participation, delivery area, and charges may vary. This is Dr. Laurie Santos from the Happiness Lab. Have you ever considered how the smallest details can create real emotion? Lexus does, like the feeling associated with the sound of a turn signal or the touch of a button as it's pressed. At Lexus, master craftsmen called Takumi are involved not just in physical craftsmanship, but in sensory details. These masters evaluate things like how a door closes, the click of a switch, the acoustic feedback of controls. Because a car that doesn't make you feel something is a car that stops short of amazing. Experience amazing at your Lexus dealer.

Mojo. And the rocket's red glare.

00:02:28 - 00:02:29 | Speaker 5:

You're not being logical is what I'm saying.

00:02:29 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 1:

This is like an orgasm in a cup.

00:02:37 - 00:03:19 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:19 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning show. Good to be here. Good to be back in the studio with you guys today. It was wild travel yesterday. I barely made the flight that I was on. but uh it was one of those things where i i realized okay if i don't make it what's the options i can stay back in florida for one more day but uh got on the uh the flight and the interesting thing is you know how people are like when they think that they're going to be sitting by themselves or they're going to have an empty seat right by them they see you yeah roll up in the aisle it was luke and i because chelsea stayed back and uh this lady just kind of gave us a look like oh they have to show up it's kind of like how i am when i go to a sporting event like you know if i go to like a well although you go to a pistons game you pretty much sit by yourself but if you go to a if you go to like a game say you're going to go to like a lions game and there's open seats and I don't have that open seat. Like I always like move down. Like I move up and roll, you know, so I can spread my thighs out, you know. I want to get my thighs a little spread.

00:04:45 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 1:

Get some air in there.

00:04:46 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:04:46 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 1:

I'm like that at movies.

00:04:48 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, in movies. Well, movies now you can't do it because I always go to the Imagine Theater and you have assigned seats. Well, I know.

00:04:54 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm saying it is nice, though, when you don't have anybody next to you and you can put your coat and your purse there. Oh, okay.

00:05:00 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, because they have those big, juicy seats that are so good that you just want to sink right into. But when I'm at a game, I've had this happen before. First off, tell me this. Okay, and Mike, you're a huge Lions fan. So I went to a Lions game a couple of weeks ago and was there for three quarters of the game. Completely fine. Nobody sitting to the right or to the left of us. So we spread out. Third quarter. They finally show up You can't show up in the third quarter They showed up, they didn't move down from cheap seats No, because they had their tickets They actually pulled their ticket out On their phone, they had their phone thing And I'm like, it's the third quarter And I didn't say anything, I sat there the whole time salty And I did the whole Arms folded like this You know, like angry man pose So I had my arms folded like this And I look over at Luke and I kind of turn to him and go Third quarter not passive aggressive at all oh yeah i've done that before though where i've gone to like a

00:06:06 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 3:

tigers game until it's like the second or third period of the wings game and i want to get over there for the end so i've done two games in one and sometimes they overlap a little bit oh the

00:06:16 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 1:

only other thing i could think of is there's so much to do at fort field is that they could have been walking around the whole time and then went to their seat but that's a long time to do it for

00:06:25 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 2:

but the the you know or they maybe they i don't know maybe they were sitting somewhere else they said sat somewhere better and they got kicked out like you're talking about like them you know had to go to their seats but third quarter i was i sat there the whole time going oh this is going to be awful and then we ended up leaving a little bit early so we ended up leaving like you know just after the fourth quarter started and as i and i'm i luke's like getting up to go out the other way the other aisle because that was the shorter version i go no we're going this way excuse me Guys, can you move? I know you just got here. Excuse me. Third quarter, guys. Can you move? I don't know. I get salty sometimes with that. But this lady looked a little salty when we got in there late. So we got back into town and had no food at home because every bit of food was done because we were gone for, like, I think 10 days. So last night, look, I opened up. It's funny. I don't even know why I open up the refrigerator. I open up the refrigerator, and it's nothing but condiments inside there. It's ketchup and mustard and mayonnaise, and then there's like an expired yogurt and all that stuff, and I'm like, man, it's DoorDash, Buffalo Wild Wings, or whatever. I actually did Lulu's, and then Luke did Buffalo Wild Wings. But back, slept in the bed. It was so good last night. It was good to come into the studio this morning. The girls at the Cabot Starbucks said, where have you been? They actually missed me.

00:07:57 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

I bet.

00:07:58 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that wild?

00:07:58 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

You're probably their first customer of the day.

00:08:00 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

I was. I was sitting in the lot at five or at I was listening to the end of the KP show and I was listening to Rihanna and that song Stay and I was like loving it. And I'm waiting a little bit back at the drive through and then all of a sudden I see the lights turn on. It was like the coolest moment ever. I got to see the lights shift over at the Starbucks.

00:08:24 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

Does that one open at 5 or 5.30?

00:08:25 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

It's a 5 a.m.

00:08:27 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:08:27 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it popped open at 5 a.m., got my cold brew and my egg white bites, and I'm all ready to go. Good to be here. Wore the roses this morning. I want you guys to stick around for this one because she's pregnant and she thinks that he's cheating. You have to hear our phone call that we made and what he did with the roses. That's happening just after 7 o'clock. Phone scams on the way this hour, next hour, and, of course, 9 o'clock hour. Taylor Swift tickets this hour, 9 o'clock hour. Pink tickets next hour. There's a lot of stuff. So, Mike, you know what's funny is that I know that you do, like, shifts on other sister stations, but I did not realize that you're still working on that oldie station.

00:09:10 - 00:09:10 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:09:10 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 1:

I think it started as, like, a side project for the company, and then it's not doing, like, amazing, but it's doing well, I guess. So I work for an oldie station in West Michigan called 1013 Big And it's, like I said, it's not doing anything crazy What kind of music they play? What are the artists that are on there? I just looked at the log for them It is Eric Clapton, Journey, and Queen Wow Do you know that music? Yeah, it used to be music like my dad listened to in the garage We would always have a radio on And it was always like this, right here But you don't say that, though, do you, on the air? No

00:09:43 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 2:

Because it would make all the old listeners feel whole

00:09:44 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 1:

No, no, I don't say that But, like, I'm just me I don't know I don't change who I am on the air yeah like I just did not know you were on an oldie station yeah yeah I don't change my voice I don't I don't do anything different I don't have a different name even it's just Mike so you do the same

00:09:58 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 3:

yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah over there

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 4:

Well. Or well?

00:10:02 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I mean, yeah, I do.

00:10:04 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 2:

Well.

00:10:04 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah, I do. And it's the only station other than, I guess, a couple times here and there. Actually, we get voice notes for Mojo in the Morning, but we don't get voice notes on the talkback mic for the iHeartRadio app. You can send those voice notes. We don't get those other than song requests for other stations. But for this station, I specifically get voice notes, and it's always from one guy, and he's very angry that I'm on that station. He does not, his name's Doug I can even see where he's from He's from Comstock Park Doug from Comstock Park Does not like that I do an afternoon shift on that station And every week, even on vacation It's like, this guy needs to go He's gotta go, I don't like him He doesn't fit the station There's a voice note, I think I sent it to you

00:10:47 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 3:

So like, by the way, if you listen on the iHeart app There's a little red microphone button That's a voice, you can just send a note to the person

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 5:

What is it called, by the way? That thing's not called voice notes, right? It's called talkback

00:10:56 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

talk back you can you can actually just talk to the person that's on the air at the time and leave a message for them and it's nice because even if you're listening in some weird remote location you don't want to stop your stream of to make a phone call you want to keep listening you just do it

00:11:11 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 5:

right there on the app you don't want to stop your stream you want to complain you just go right to

00:11:15 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 3:

that but typically people are doing it to say hey can you play doja cat they're not doing it to tell you I hate you and I hope you die on the way home from work.

00:11:24 - 00:11:25 | Unknown:

So we played

00:11:25 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 6:

a little bit of it during the podcast, the Slightly Messy Show podcast yesterday. And you could hear in the background his TV super loud, like every old guy staring at tight. We were trying to figure out what was playing.

00:11:39 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. Alright, we got a game. I'm turning it up really loud. Here we go.

00:11:44 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 1:

Hey, this is Doug. I think you should replace Mike with Eric. Eric fits the programming Mike sounds like a little kid Playing oldies Yeah, that's true Yeah, I'm old That's why I'm listening But I listen to Eric on the weekends But not Mike during the week Thank you Go get him, Eric Wow

00:12:11 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 4:

Go get him, Eric

00:12:12 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 5:

Alright, hold on I think I kind of got an idea Hold on a second, hold on Little kid playing oldies

00:12:18 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm old That's why I'm listening But I listen to Eric on the weekends

00:12:26 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 5:

I think he's got like Fox News or something on it

00:12:28 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 1:

Thank you

00:12:30 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's so great

00:12:32 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 5:

Go get him, Eric Go get him, Eric

00:12:34 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 2:

It's probably like Eric's uncle Isn't it funny?

00:12:39 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 5:

Mike sounds like a kid playing music

00:12:42 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

He's not wrong Look at

00:12:45 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 5:

Can I hear some of your breaks at all? Do you have any breaks that are, like, an air check or something? Let me see if I can play it from this end. Yeah.

00:12:55 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, I've had bad service at places, and, yeah, maybe I'll never go there again or something. I've never, like, thought to, like, let me call the company and tell them to fire that person.

00:13:07 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what's the frequency? I know it's big, but what is it?

00:13:11 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 6:

101.3.

00:13:12 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 5:

101.3, big. What's their slogan? The fun hits, you know. Yeah, I think I can play with them.

00:13:17 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

The fun hits, you know.

00:13:19 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Did you hear this? All right, hold on. Yeah.

00:13:23 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 6:

It's a new big 101.3 fun hits. You know, if somebody buys you a lottery ticket and you win big, do you have to give them some of the money? Like if it's like a Christmas present?

00:13:32 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

Heck no. Yes. You don't hear a gift that someone gives you just because they bought it? Thank you. The same rules apply to the lottery. They know the risk they were taking.

00:13:41 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I agree with you 110%. I ain't giving anybody. Maybe $10 is like a tip. No.

00:13:47 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I kind of like it, but I think your delivery is too upbeat and fast. I think you've got to slow down for the old people. I've got to be angry?

00:13:55 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they don't like the fast talkers. You're reminding them of ordering at Starbucks, and they don't understand what anybody's saying. Huh? What is it?

00:14:01 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 5:

It's large, medium, extra large. Not venti and grande. What is this? By the way, I think that what you need to do is you need to sound almost kind of like, you know how you sound like when you're stoned? You almost kind of got to pull back a little bit. Because your energy is top 40 energy

00:14:18 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 3:

I have an idea, Mike Put a picture of your grandparents on the board So look at it when you're talking And just be like We have your Neil Diamond song coming up In just a second, Grandpa

00:14:30 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I used to have a program director That told me that I sounded too much like a DJ And I wasn't talking to somebody And they told me to do exactly that They said put a picture of your girlfriend right there I didn't have a girlfriend

00:14:40 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 4:

It was my sister Pat

00:14:43 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 5:

Hold on, I'm going to listen to this guy one more time This guy

00:14:47 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I think you should replace Mike With Eric Eric fits the programming Mike sounds like a little kid Playing oldies I wonder

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 4:

This is my favorite part. Yeah, I'm old.

00:15:04 - 00:15:41 | Speaker 3:

I listen to Eric on the weekends. I love that. Go get him, Eric. Yeah, I'm old. I would go get him. When they asked me to do it, I was like, you sure? You sure? Do you want me to do it at all these stages? They said, yeah, we play Michigan State and the Lions every game or whatever. I'm like, oh, that's kind of cool. I like that. I was like, but you sure? You want me to talk over Journey? You've listened to the other shows I'm on, right? By the way, who is Eric? Eric Zane. Oh, Eric Zane. How old is he? He's older than me. He used to be on Free Beer and Hot Wings. Yeah, I remember Eric Zane.

00:15:41 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 5:

So is he like 40s, 50s, 70s?

00:15:43 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, 40s, 50s.

00:15:44 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. All right. I don't know.

00:15:46 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think he's kind of like late 40s or something like that. Go get him, Eric. Yeah. Go get him, Eric.

00:15:52 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings back in the day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:15:58 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 4:

By the way, we're going to change Mike's name to Eric, just so I can use that drop every time Mike says it. Go get him, Mike.

00:16:05 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 5:

That's how we're going to have to hype you up now.

00:16:07 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 4:

This is for a chance to go to WWE SmackDown. We have three clues. This was the year that a blackout occurred right at the second half of the Super Bowl.

00:16:19 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 1:

Officials say a, quote, abnormality in the power system triggered an automatic shutdown that forced backup systems to kick in and keep the inside of the Superdome from going totally different.

00:16:29 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Justin Timberlake reunited with NSYNC at the VMAs. And One Direction had the biggest song on the radio in this year. What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize. Good luck.

00:16:52 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 2:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:10 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 4:

I remember it. There was the blackout at the Super Bowl where the power went out.

00:17:14 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 1:

Officials say a, quote, abnormality in the power system triggered an automatic shutdown that forced backup systems to kick in and keep the inside of the Superdome from going totally dark.

00:17:24 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, then this was at the VMAs. Justin Timberlake reunited with NSYNC. And One Direction had songs on the radio in this year. What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize. Alyssa, what year was this?

00:17:44 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 1:

It was 2013.

00:17:45 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:17:50 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 1:

Justin Timberlake reuniting with NSYNC.

00:17:52 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that was a cool moment. Congratulations to you. We're setting you up with the tickets. You're going to go see WWE SmackDown coming to Little Caesars on January the 20th. Have a great time. Thank you. Where are you this morning? Are you at home? Are you in the car?

00:18:08 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm in the car waiting for my shift to start for work.

00:18:12 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Wow. What time do you start at?

00:18:14 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 3:

Seven.

00:18:15 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you're early.

00:18:17 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 4:

Good God. Yeah. Do you ever think about being in radio? Would you like to work with us?

00:18:23 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I'm qualified.

00:18:25 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 4:

No, listen, you're qualified. You are.

00:18:27 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 1:

You're good.

00:18:28 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. I want you to take your two fingers and I want you to put it over your wrist. If you feel anything at all there, you are qualified and we are hiring. So hang on the phone. We'll get your information from you. Qualified. Do you want to go to see Taylor Swift? You have a chance right now. Taylor is going to be coming to Ford Field in June. We've got tickets from now until then. Text the word TAYLOR to 95500, and you can win tickets. Text TAYLOR to 95500, standard text, and data rates do apply.

00:18:58 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:01 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 4:

All right, War of the Roses Day today, busting a cheater. First, though, Shannon's got her Dirty on the 30. What's going on?

00:19:06 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 5:

Well, I want to start off with a couple of updates this morning. Jeremy Renner was in really, really bad shape with some serious injuries to his chest and torso after that snowcat incident, according to the 911 call that was placed just minutes after he was crushed by it. In that call, I'm told that Jeremy can be heard moaning in the background. He was experiencing really, really heavy bleeding from his head and some other areas of his body was still able to make that call, thankfully. But his chest collapsed, his upper torso was crushed, again was airlifted to a local hospital from the scene of the accident where he remains. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was shaken After watching Buffalo Bills safety DeMar Hamlin collapse on Monday Night Football during his weekly appearance on the Pat McAfee show, Aaron said he was shocked at how brutal that was to witness on television.

00:19:56 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

But at the end of the day, you don't think these type of things are going to happen.

00:20:00 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 1:

And when it does happen, everything is thrown out. A rivalry, distaste for a certain team, whatever it might be that might separate you a little bit, that's all gone when it's one of your guys. And I, you know, the three of you on the show, obviously you've all played. And I think we all feel the same way, whether you, you know, you're currently playing or done playing, like you're shook about this because you just never thought you would see something like this on the field. This kid's 24 years old, right? You know, this really, it f***ed me up last night.

I do have an update on DeMar's condition. By the way, a rep, one of his reps says that while he remains in the ICU at UC Medical Center, he is making positive moves toward recovery. Kind of vague, but apparently DeMar's family wants to keep the specifics of his condition private, which you can understand.

00:20:49 - 00:21:30 | Speaker 3:

I was thinking of the players that play in the first game coming back, you know, since then. because you know most of the players are shook about that and coming back your first game the first hits the first times that you're going out there and doing it and knowing what potentially could happen like how will it change the game i i know that there's there the game has completely changed over the years i believe it's gotten uh less physical because of especially less physical when you're trying to sack a quarterback and stuff they protect those guys but i wonder if this is going to make it even less physical because players are not going to take as many chances.

00:21:31 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 5:

I don't know how you do it in this situation, though. It wasn't like a wild tackle or anything illegal even. It was just a normal tackle.

00:21:37 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 6:

That's the thing when you watch the video. The tackle didn't seem anything out of the ordinary.

00:21:41 - 00:22:03 | Speaker 4:

Well, and they said what happened to him was extremely rare. But still, like, you know, to Aaron Rodgers' point, you know all of these things are possible. But it really hits you when you see it happen. The mastermind behind that college admissions cheating scandal was sentenced to more than three years in prison yesterday, nearly four years after he pleaded guilty to charges, including racketeering. Rick Singer, do you remember that guy's name?

00:22:03 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 3:

It took this long to say this, the guy?

00:22:05 - 00:22:24 | Speaker 4:

Yes, isn't that nuts? Yeah, he admitted to bribing coaches and exam administrators to get the kids of wealthy parents, including actress Lori Loughlin, into elite colleges. He was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison. Prosecutors wanted six years, but it is the longest of more than 50 sentences handed down in that college admissions scandal.

00:22:24 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 3:

I read he made over $25 million doing it.

00:22:27 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 4:

You know what?

00:22:27 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 5:

I was just about to say, these are rich people crimes. Because nobody else gets four years after they pled guilty to finally get jail time.

00:22:34 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think what happened, Megan, is I think that it was because he gave up people's names. And so I think that there was a little bit of...

00:22:41 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 5:

He couldn't do that from a cell?

00:22:43 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, I know. But no, what happens is they make deals. They give leniency.

00:22:47 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but serious. Four years before you finally see. That's ridiculous.

00:22:52 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 3:

It's still, you know, a decent amount of time. I think it's, you know, I think most of the people that got in trouble, like Lori Loughlin and stuff.

00:22:58 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 4:

Got a slap on the hand.

00:22:59 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 3:

They got like months.

00:22:59 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 4:

And a fine, yeah. And lastly, Ryan Reynolds has earned a spot on the Oscar shortlist for best song for Good Afternoon from his Christmas movie, Spirited, with Will Ferrell. Not sure if any of you guys saw that. But Hugh Jackman is preparing to star alongside Ryan in the upcoming Deadpool sequel. And he says he hopes the Academy refrains from further boosting his buddy's ego with an actual nomination.

00:23:22 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 2:

Ryan Reynolds getting a nomination in the best song category would make the next year of my life insufferable. I mean, I have to spend a year with him shooting Wolverine and Deadpool. And trust me, it would be impossible. Please, from the bottom of my heart, do not validate Ryan Reynolds in this way, please. I love them.

I don't know. Why would he ever do something? You guys have to close the store down or something. We can't have customers coming in and seeing... Okay, well, don't be

00:26:06 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 3:

judgy with me when I was just trying to be helpful. Like, tell me how to get his bologna pony unstuck from the countertap.

00:26:12 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know why he put it there. I don't even know what I'm supposed to do with this situation.

00:26:16 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 3:

Me either, and I did not ask for this. I don't even want to see it. You think maybe if I pour some really hot water on it, it'll release? No, no,

00:26:24 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 4:

no, no, no, no, no. No, you need to close the

00:26:26 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 3:

store and maybe call 911. I don't even want to deal with this. This is no longer a nut-free environment. Please just close the store. Don't say you guys. I was just trying to make customers

00:26:36 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 4:

signature frozen creations. What is happening? But I was going to leave in five minutes. Can you come over and take care of it? I mean, I feel like I would have to. Please do not

00:26:48 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 3:

go anywhere. Okay, but when you come over, I just want to warn you, you're going to see his ding-a-ling right there on the countertop. Put a rag over it. Oh, my God. I don't even want to get near his hairy canary i'm going to tell him to do it oh my gosh all right i'm going to notify all the customers that were closed i'm going to put a sign on the door it says frozen

00:27:04 - 00:27:11 | Speaker 4:

penis sorry can't no no no no no no just no no no lock the door right and then sean can you come

00:27:33 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 3:

We were told that you had to handle both stores while the other manager was out of town. That is?

Hi.

00:32:55 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 4:

Say hi. Talk. Say hi. All right, hang on a second.

00:33:01 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 is 6.55. 5.

00:33:07 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 4:

War of the Roses Thursday. If you suspect that somebody that you're in a relationship with is cheating on you, you can text cheater to us at 95500 and get on a future Mojo in the Morning show. But you have to be willing. If you do text Cheater, you have to be willing to put your business out on the radio. So I want to make sure of that. We just don't do this as a little service, having fun. We got a lot of stuff that, you know, we want our listeners to be able to hear. So you got to be able to be open about that. And that's the thing sometimes people don't understand, is that people that want to go on War of the Roses put themselves out there in a big way. Because it ain't just the call that is interesting. It's the aftermath that gets very, very interesting after we do the War of the Roses. So text CHEATER to 95500 if you want to be on War of the Roses.

00:34:01 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 3:

What is this music?

00:34:02 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. It's kind of nice, though, isn't it? It's a little jazzy kind of music.

00:34:05 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 3:

It's a very elevator. Yeah.

00:34:07 - 00:34:15 | Speaker 4:

I mean, you know, it was fitting for, I guess, the beginning part where it was like, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. All right. Let me get to the War of the Roses.

00:34:15 - 00:34:21 | Speaker 3:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:34:22 - 00:34:24 | Speaker 4:

Jenny, why do you think your husband is cheating on you?

00:34:25 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 1:

We haven't had sex in about almost six months now.

00:34:29 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 2:

And that's unusual for you? Yeah. Why is that?

00:34:32 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 1:

Why haven't you? Well, actually, I'm pregnant with our first baby, and I haven't put on bed rest. So I can't really do much.

00:34:44 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 4:

Why is it that you now all of a sudden think that he's out cheating? What's the reasoning for that?

00:34:50 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 1:

you know we had a really healthy sex life and now he's just doing things that he didn't ever do like he's going out till really late and not coming home and when you say going out till really late like how late is he

00:35:08 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 3:

going out till he like last week he came home at 3 30 in the morning so i don't know what he's doing

00:35:16 - 00:35:24 | Speaker 1:

between 1 and 3 30 what did you ask him where he is did you say where the hell are you what's going

00:35:24 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 3:

on yeah and he just said he was he was drunk and trying to sober up and needed to drive home

00:35:31 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 2:

because he knew i couldn't come and get him so but i mean he could call uber i mean that's a

00:35:40 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 1:

pretty lame excuse it would be to me uh devastating to know that a woman who's pregnant with their first baby is getting cheated on because the guy is just looking for sex. We're going to call up Jenny's husband and we're going to ask him where he's going to send a dozen free roses. It's a mojo in the morning. It's a war of the roses. Hang on the phone and don't say a word. Okay.

00:36:05 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Hello?

00:36:26 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm looking for a Sean. Can you please?

00:36:29 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 3:

Yes, hey.

00:36:30 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Sean. My name's Nicole. I'm calling you from a new internet floral company called Rosesboom.com. I'm calling with an offer for some free flowers if you can answer two quick survey questions for us.

00:36:40 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:36:42 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah?

00:36:43 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:36:44 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Have you purchased flowers in the past six months, Sean? uh no and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months uh no no okay and that's it as a thank you for participating in that roses bloom.com survey like i said we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses and here's the deal these can be sent to anybody anywhere in the country and i'm not going to ask you for credit card info or anything i just need the name and the telephone number of who you want these flowers to go to okay all right so do you have somebody in mind that you might want to send some flowers to again it's red roses so yeah okay i need a first and a last name from you melissa okay what's the last name okay and just so we know and have on record we kind of track everything right now since we're a new company what is her relationship to you she's a friend and before i get melissa's telephone number we can also include a message with the card with the flowers did you want to

00:37:53 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 3:

include something like that or um yeah is it uh what is it so basically she's going to get a text

00:38:02 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 2:

message saying that you are sending her flowers it will include that message and then she can go on our website and schedule her delivery time, like when she knows she's going to be home. Does that make sense?

00:38:12 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, yeah. Put some of those emoji, like, kiss faces on it, just a couple of those.

00:38:19 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and then am I signing your name or no name?

00:38:22 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, you can put my name at the end.

00:38:23 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:38:24 - 00:38:24 | Unknown:

Sean.

00:38:25 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 2:

And real quick, Sean, I do also have to let you know that this call is being recorded, and that's for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Yeah, I guess so. Awesome.

00:38:34 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 1:

Sean, I also need to come on the phone here and tell you that while we have been recording this call, your wife, Jenny, has heard every single word that you just said and heard you send flowers to another woman.

00:38:54 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 3:

Nice, Sean. Nice. We're having a baby in three months. Yeah, I can't even believe this is happening.

00:39:02 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 1:

What is this? What this is, Sean, is Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses. And we got a phone call from Jenny because she was worried that you were cheating on her while she was pregnant with your baby. And obviously she heard you send flowers to another woman. And is that somebody that you are in a relationship with? Or are you... Relationship? No. Not in a relationship with her.

00:39:39 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 2:

So she's a friend, but you're sending her a bouquet of red roses over your wife?

00:39:45 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 1:

It's none of anybody's business. It's not any of your wife's business?

00:39:54 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 2:

You know how bad this looks? Sean?

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it looks bad for Jenny for acting crazy.

00:40:02 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you can't put the blame on her. You're the one who sent the flowers to somebody else.

00:40:06 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 5:

Look, I don't need to talk to you about any of this s***.

00:40:11 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 3:

I think you're going to end up having to talk to Jenny about it. And I think that Jenny's fear was that you were cheating on her because she told us that she's been on bed rest and it's been a while since you guys have had sex.

00:40:28 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That's between Jenny and me.

00:40:34 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 4:

Is that the reason you're cheating? Is it because you guys aren't having sex? Or is there more to it?

00:40:41 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 5:

I never said I was cheating. You said that. You put those words in my mouth. I never said I was cheating. Man has needs, you know?

00:40:49 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, you just did.

00:40:55 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. She's... I'm surprised he hung on that long. Jenny how are you

00:41:02 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm pretty

00:41:05 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 3:

Alright hang on one second We're going to talk to you some more okay Okay

00:41:12 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 2:

Your home for the world famous War of the Roses Is Mojo in the Morning Don't miss this

00:41:19 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning

00:41:21 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 3:

When we come back here next We'll take comments and I know many Have them I can see the text and I can see The calls lighting up right now Text 95500, phone 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And I also want to just ask this question. It's pretty bold to cheat when your wife is on bed rest, but is it common that there are men that will cheat while their wives are pregnant? Call us up and tell us. We'll be right back.

00:41:52 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 5:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses.

00:42:03 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 1:

The War of the Roses. The War of the Roses is my favorite.

00:42:07 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:10 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. A lot of comments. A lot of people want to talk. And coming up here in just a little bit, there is a possibility that Jenny knows who Melissa is. So we're trying to find out for sure if it's the person who she thinks, the person that her husband sent the flowers to. Bianca, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:42:42 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Yeah, I was just listening and I heard him say men have needs, but that just absolutely blew me up.

00:42:50 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, when he said that, same.

00:42:52 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 3:

Here, hold on. I want to play it for you. Hold on. Men have needs, you know? Yeah.

00:42:58 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 1:

for like for almost two years now and there's been times where like I don't I'm not in the moon like my my drive has been very very low because of um the condition I have that causes the infertility and if that ever happened to me he'd be gone I like there's other ways to take care of your needs other than cheating on your pregnant wife at that point yeah there there's

00:43:25 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 3:

Many things that, and we've learned this with conversation that we even had yesterday, that a guy should never say to a woman, but there are more things that a guy should never say to a pregnant woman who's carrying their baby, and not a very bright guy. Are you doing okay, though? Are you, everything okay in your life?

00:43:47 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 1:

Yep, yeah. So far, everything's going good. We're starting to get on track with everything. but yeah no that just it made me mad if my husband ever did that that'd be game over yeah

00:44:00 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 3:

thank you so much for the call appreciate it uh bath mojo in the morning wore the roses

00:44:05 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 2:

hi um i just wanted to tell her that she needed to run as soon as possible because when i was six months pregnant um my ex went on a cruise with his ex-girlfriend because they had planned it a year in advance and so he still left and um about a year and a half after i had her i was

00:44:28 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 3:

just done with it because it's wait well hold on hold on so it sounded like it wasn't it sounded like it wasn't secret he did he did it and you knew no i knew about it but like i like accepted

00:44:39 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 2:

it because like they had already planned it they would lose out on the money and stuff and I was trying to trust him, hoping that it would work out.

00:44:50 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 4:

So how did you find out that stuff went down on that cruise? Well, I'm just... Text messages.

00:44:57 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 3:

What were the text messages?

00:45:00 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 2:

stuff about backdoor entrances. Oh, they were adventurous.

00:45:09 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

Beth, I hope you're in a better place, too. I hope that you're not with this guy.

00:45:14 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 2:

I'm happily married for five years.

00:45:17 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 3:

Is your husband parenting that child? Yes. Okay. Is that other guy part of that child's life?

00:45:26 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 2:

Somewhat. Here and there.

00:45:28 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 3:

What a douche, man.

00:45:29 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 2:

But so much better off, yeah.

00:45:31 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for calling. I'm sorry that you went through that, but it's amazing. And I wonder sometimes, you know, it's like how, you know, I was trusting and stuff, but I wonder if the pregnancy had anything to do with her being more trusting. What's going on, Emily? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. Just a few moments ago, you heard a pregnant woman find out that her husband is cheating. What did you want to say?

00:45:55 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. I love you guys. i'm super nervous and sorry we love you too oh that's so cool um yeah basically i was um pregnant and i found out that he had been cheating on me the whole time afterward um this was our first child after i had had a miscarriage before oh my goodness and how did you find out um basically just a bunch of text messages and like thinking back on the relationship it was just totally sketchy but I completely overlooked everything because you know my mind wasn't completely there I was really really sick I ended up losing about 50 pounds and I became jaundiced and then you know I had to be induced early to save myself and the baby which we're both fine now thank goodness um but yeah so I ended up being really sick and then I just kind of really wanted him to help me out because i couldn't do everything on my own and he just was not willing to do anything and then i just you know found out by actions he didn't care and found out later that he'd been cheating on me the whole pregnancy so it was really unfortunate but now i'm doing better than ever me and my son are amazing and it's just through a lot of like self-care and um love that we're doing amazing what advice you want to give jenny um i actually missed the first part of the war of the roses which i'm bummed about but yeah you can hear it on podcast yeah um basically if a man is showing you by his actions that he's not you know willing to commit you to one person to the relationship you know that he isn't willing to stick around if if he is having needs, like he, you know, so poetically put it, then he's not going to stick out for anything tougher in the future that may happen because, you know, relationships are tough.

00:48:02 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 3:

That's a great point. I mean, first off, if during one of the happiest moments of your life, if not the happiest moment, you can't be faithful to your spouse. He's not going to be faithful when they're not going through pregnancy. I appreciate your call and I'm happy to hear that you're doing well. thank you so much love you guys i love you too uh voices guys uh they gave you the alias kelly hi kelly hi hi your voices guys now so you can feel good about talking to us what'd you want to

00:48:34 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 1:

say okay so i was the girl who was so the girl was pregnant and the guy was cheating on me on her with me for a few months until I found out that she was pregnant. He had a girlfriend at all.

00:48:51 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so you're talking about your situation.

00:48:54 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 1:

No, so... But I'm not the girlfriend. The girlfriend was pregnant. I didn't know he had a girlfriend at all when I was seeing him.

00:49:01 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wait, you're the girl that cheated with the guy whose wife... Had a wife who was pregnant. Pregnant.

00:49:08 - 00:49:09 | Unknown:

Yes, yes.

00:49:09 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait, how long did it take for you to figure out that this guy who you're, I'm assuming you guys were having sex with, right?

00:49:17 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yes.

00:49:18 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 3:

How long did it take for you to find out that this guy was in a relationship with a woman who was carrying his baby?

00:49:25 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 1:

Three months.

00:49:26 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 3:

What was it that gave it away?

00:49:29 - 00:49:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was at the, my son, actually, and I saw him with her.

00:49:33 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh, and, like, out and about?

00:49:36 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And what, did you do anything? No, because I'm not going to, like, make her like because she's pregnant like I don't want her being stressed out or anything like that and I don't think she knew because like they were just like out and happy and about and I'm like oh my gosh like my whole like I didn't say anything to her because it's not my place I mean I don't want to stress her out with her being pregnant

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 2:

So did it ever get revealed that you were the other woman?

00:50:05 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 1:

No.

00:50:06 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 2:

So this woman now is with him still?

00:50:10 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Wow. I haven't seen him. Yeah, I don't talk to him.

00:50:14 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 2:

When you cut it off with him, did you say you lying, cheating, you know? Yeah, I went.

00:50:19 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. I'm not sure putting it, but yeah.

00:50:22 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I got a lot of respect for you. because most people want the vindictiveness of like bringing the whole thing down and now your beef's really with him you're in you didn't want to do it because you wanted to protect her health but i but i then start thinking to myself he's probably got another girl and he's probably still cheating you know he never he she doesn't know probably but like

00:50:48 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 1:

i mean like for the help of a baby and her i didn't say anything yeah wow our call these calls

00:50:53 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 2:

have been unbelievable yeah yeah they've been been amazing um by the way the the the melissa that we think or that jenny thinks is the girl um she said that uh to our producer that she can almost confirm it is so it's somebody that that jenny knows so if you missed the war of the roses you can always go back and listen on podcasts and stuff but um we have it for you and you can listen to the whole show. But they haven't really had relations. They haven't been baking cookies because she's been on bed rest. She's pregnant. He sent flowers to a girl named Melissa. And now we just find out that she knows who this girl is. So it's somebody that she knows. That's even worse.

00:51:39 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

He's the biggest narcissist in the whole entire world.

00:51:41 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:51:41 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 4:

That's going to make your blood boil when you listen to him.

00:51:43 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 2:

It was, honestly, were you as surprised, guys, as I was, that he stayed on the phone as long as he did?

00:51:50 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 4:

Yes, but I feel like that's part of being a narcissist is he was trying to shift blame. And, you know, I mean, some of the stuff he said, I'm still shaking my head.

00:52:01 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. If you think that your relationship is cheating on you, you can text cheater to 95500. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, everybody doing good? Real quick, can I do like a little... Roll call? Hello, roll call, yeah. Just a quick hello. Spike, good morning. Good morning. We have Shannon here. Good morning. Mike. Good morning. Megan. Good morning. Nice to have you guys here. And then, of course, we've got Reese, KP, Lydia, all here. Katie, what's going on in the Dirty?

00:52:34 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, in his upcoming book, Spare, which I cannot wait to read. Prince Harry. Hear him Tuesday. Oh, my God, Tuesday. Yes, I was just going to say, drop time Tuesday. I'm running to Barnes & Noble.

00:52:45 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 2:

Barnes & Noble still around? I didn't even know bookstores. There are bookstores?

00:52:50 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 4:

There are bookstores, yeah. And these things called libraries, too. Did you know that people read?

00:52:54 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 2:

I read over the break. I did, but I ordered them on Amazon. I don't know.

00:52:58 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that's not fair. But in this book, Prince Harry makes a whole bunch of bombshell claims, but one of them in particular has been leaked because the Guardian got a hold of a copy of Spare before it dropped on Tuesday. Harry says he was physically attacked by his brother, Prince William. So the Duke of Sussex details a particularly gruesome fight, as I'll describe it, with his bro as their relationship grew strained after he married Meghan Markle in May of 2018. Harry says the altercation began when William allegedly called Meghan difficult, abrasive and rude. He says his brother then grabbed him by the collar, ripped off his necklace before he, quote unquote, knocked me to the floor. Harry fell onto and broke a dog bowl, causing visible injury to his back, the pieces dug into his back. Harry goes on to say that William had asked him not to tell Meg about the fight, which led him to call his therapist. Instead, he did eventually tell Megan, and he said she wasn't angry. She was just so sad that the brother's relationship had crumbled to this point.

00:54:05 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 3:

And apparently it was William who said, aren't you worried about the skin tone of your children?

00:54:10 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 4:

There is going to be so much in this book That I think he's just He's letting it all out at this point And I can't wait

00:54:18 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 2:

By the way This is all his This is from his perspective

00:54:23 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 3:

We are going to hear the William Apologist Let's go

00:54:26 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 2:

Do you think William's going to come out with his versions of the story Or ignore it completely

00:54:30 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 3:

William will never come out because he will have the throne one day So he won't ever come out and say This did or did not happen

00:54:37 - 00:54:42 | Speaker 2:

I tell you though The one story I sent you guys And I know Shannon may do it later in the dirty

00:54:42 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh I have that next hour

00:54:44 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 2:

That story makes me go BS There's no He's now blaming his brother For one of the worst things that he's done in his life But remember

00:54:53 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

William has a history of a temper And we see him on camera all the time And you have to remember the motto of the royal family Is never come

00:55:00 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Complain, never explain.

00:55:01 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 5:

All right, so next out. We're not going to hear anything. That's the motto of us, too.

00:55:03 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 3:

That should be our morning show. Yeah, yeah.

00:55:05 - 00:55:12 | Speaker 5:

Never complain. Never complain, never explain. We would have nothing to talk about if we do. This would be a lot of music. We'd be playing 12 songs an hour.

00:55:13 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 1:

An update on Buffalo Bills' safety. Damar Hamlin's recovery two days after he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest during that game against Cincinnati. His rep says everybody remains optimistic. This is Jordan Rooney talking right here.

00:55:27 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 3:

The news that we will share today is we've got some positive steps in the right direction. So still has a long ways to go, but in terms of what the doctors want to see, it's positive. To be honest, that's all I got. Just that in terms of what they were looking for and hoping to see overnight, they got that. They got what they needed.

00:55:46 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he said that he was unable to go into further detail on DeMar's status at the request of his family not to provide specifics on his condition. What's the latest with that Good Morning America love scandal? TJ Holmes' estranged wife, Merrilee Feibig, finally spoke out yesterday about her husband's highly publicized romance with his GMA3 co-anchor, Amy Robach. A statement from Merrilee's lawyer reads, quote, During the holiday season and in light of this challenging time, Merrilee's so focus has remained on the overall best interest of her and TJ's nine-year-old daughter. To that end, TJ's attorney and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously, and as amicably as possible. We continue to be disappointed by TJ's lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party's daughter. Did not mince words there. The statement was released a week after TJ filed for divorce. Now, Amy Robach's husband, Andrew Hsu, has already scrubbed all photos of her off of his social media. I don't know if you noticed that, Mojo. And I do know that Amy was spotted leaving TJ's New York City apartment yesterday afternoon. So that's still going strong. They are still not back on the air at Good Morning America.

00:56:57 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 5:

I did see the picture of Andrew Shue and the boys, you know, his boys over the holidays. And it was kind of a sad looking picture, like the son posted.

00:57:05 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 1:

Did you see that TJ Holmes' wife liked that photo?

00:57:09 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, I did not see that. That's interesting. Can I tell you, though, I do find it interesting. TJ Holmes says that he believes that he'll be back on the air at Good Morning America. After the investigation tells him that he would be, you know, everything was okay. I think it's going to be interesting, though, because they did cheat, and they did a lot of cheating, it looked like, while at work. And I wonder how, especially because of many of the viewers of those shows that they do are women, I wonder how women will take to it. Will women go, you know what, it's their relationship, they can do this stuff. Or will women go, you know what, I can't watch this guy. And this girl, because I knew that they were cheating. Because people don't like cheaters. We learned that with War of the Roses. And when you hear that somebody cheated in the relationship, sometimes they don't give forgiveness. But I don't know. Especially when their spouses are not giving forgiveness. Obviously, his wife is not. His wife's upset.

00:58:04 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Cardi B says enough with inflation. Just enough in a new video. She slammed President Biden and her followers who said she shouldn't be complaining about inflation since she's a millionaire.

00:58:17 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 2:

i get a summary of the money that's being spent in my home every week so when i'm starting to see they're like groceries is like tripling up it's like hey yo what the is going on i want to see for myself what the is being spent on and like when i go to the supermarket like i went to the supermarket i'm seeing that everything tripled up that like lettuce was like two dollars a couple of months ago and now it's like seven of course i'm gonna say something the because if i think I can only imagine what middle class people or people in the hood is motherfucking thinking. So yes, I'm going to say something. And I have a big platform, so I do want anybody that's responsible of these f***ing prices to put that f***ing down. They're going to see my f***ing and they might put it down.

00:59:01 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 5:

Race, you agree with this, right, Race? I sure do. Race is like that. I'm with you, Cardi.

00:59:05 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The only thing I could think of when watching that video, though, was someone get her some Afrin or some Zyrtec. She's stuffy. She's stuffy. She's real stuffy. By the way, Cardi B's net worth, $62 million.

00:59:16 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 5:

She's worth $62 million? $62 million. Wow. Listen, it affects everybody. It affects the rich people, too.

00:59:22 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 1:

She sent lettuce from $2 to $7. She went to the grocery store herself. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

01:00:07 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 1:

What's your favorite pink song?

01:00:10 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 4:

Actually, I like the one with she sings with rag and bone. It's so good.

01:00:16 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 1:

With rag and bone? I don't know that one.

01:00:18 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 4:

Are you talking about which one is it?

01:00:21 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 5:

It's an older one.

01:00:22 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 1:

With rag and bone. Hold on. I'm going to look it up. I'm going anywhere away from here.

01:00:27 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 5:

I don't know the name of it on the spot, but it's a slower song.

01:00:31 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 1:

Pink and Rag and Bone.

01:00:33 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 5:

Very sweet.

01:00:34 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. I was thinking that you were thinking of that one with the guy from Fun, Nate Roos or whatever his name is. I like that song, too.

01:00:43 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 4:

We Are Young?

01:00:44 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I like that. The one I played just a second ago that Blow Me One Last Kiss was fantastic, too. I love that song. It's got a lot of good songs, so I'll have to check that out when I'm off the air. I'll listen to it, okay? I got it all queued up on my phone. Congrats to you.

01:00:58 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I love it. Thank you.

01:00:59 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 1:

Have a great morning, Julie.

01:01:01 - 01:01:01 | Speaker 5:

You too. Bye.

01:01:02 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 1:

Bye. Mojo in the morning show. So I don't know if you guys have ever felt this way, but I went to go buy a pair of jeans. So I had to get jeans, all right? So I've been wearing the same two pair of jeans for like the longest time, and the crotch was kind of wearing out on them, and they were like moments away. They were moments away from seeing everything, Megan.

01:01:27 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 5:

The thigh rip, not the thigh rip. The thigh rip was – You never prefer jeans.

01:01:30 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, unfortunately it was getting to that point. So I went to the store to go buy them. And I don't want to say which store it is, but it is one of the jean stores. And I walk into the store, and I love their jeans. But I get very picky on the jeans that I like to wear. I don't like anything on my butt pocket. I don't like bedazzles or I don't like designs or any of that stuff. Yeah. If I wanted, though, you know, that whole thing, I would have done true religion.

01:01:58 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 2:

Your time travel back to six years ago.

01:01:59 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would have done true religion jeans back in the day if I wanted that stuff. So I'm, and I'm about fit, too, because my pants have a hard time staying up on me. Like, I don't have a. You don't really have a butt. Yeah, I have no buttocks.

01:02:13 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 3:

Like, his back, I don't know how to explain this. It's weird. Your back goes right into your thighs.

01:02:17 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 1:

It's the weirdest thing ever. I don't know. I need one of those Brazilian.

01:02:22 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:02:23 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 1:

Butt lifts.

01:02:23 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 3:

The VLs are out.

01:02:24 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 1:

Really? Out. Everybody's getting them taken out. Is it bad for you?

01:02:27 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 3:

Real bad for you.

01:02:29 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 5:

They have like those fake butt pads at Five Below. I can get you one of those. Oh, man.

01:02:34 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 1:

Maybe that would be.

01:02:34 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 5:

There's a lot of things that was at Five Below. Yeah, it's quite the deal.

01:02:39 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, I'll have to check that out. So I'm in the store, and I'm in the dressing room. And you guys know what it's like when you're trying to find something to wear, and you can't find it. and you're in the dressing room, and you have clothes just scattered all over the place. This woman that was helping me is a really nice girl, actually. She was helping me out. She must have brought me seven, eight, nine, ten pair of jeans, okay? And none of them worked. And after being in there for over an hour, I was like, I can't walk out of here empty-handed.

01:03:12 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 3:

That is anxiety. You know what I mean? Oh, my gosh, yes.

01:03:15 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 1:

So I wanted to ask this question. have you ever felt obligated to buy something because somebody helped you or you know you're in a store or whatever and they were nice to you because I ended up buying one of the jeans and they're just okay and I was going to wear them today and I didn't I actually ended up wearing a pair of lululemon pants oh yeah you're nice and cozy because I tried I tried oh they're so comfortable I wish they made jeans that that fit like these things yeah pants yeah so long story short I tried the jeans on this morning I was going to wear them in I hate them guys

01:03:45 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 3:

And I want to return them

01:03:49 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 1:

But I'm worried if I return them Will she know I returned them

01:03:52 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 3:

Is it a store based on commission

01:03:55 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't know how it is Should I say the store

01:03:59 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 3:

You want me to return them for you

01:04:01 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 1:

I know what store it is

01:04:03 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 3:

And I gotta go there

01:04:04 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 2:

So what happens with commission So that gets yanked out of their next check If they already got paid for the sale

01:04:11 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 3:

It depends on the place So my girlfriend Kelly worked at a store And that's what would happen Oh my gosh Is they would yank it

01:04:17 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 2:

I mean you can't control that Listen You tried You did your best You took them home And even tried them again And if they're not comfortable You take them back There's no contract

01:04:25 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 1:

Spike she was with me For an hour and two minutes Well that's awesome Then you know next time And she had to go Into the dressing room And re-pick up All these things You know how that is When you walk Out of the dressing room

01:04:36 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

The worst is a small The worst is if you go Into like a small store Especially if it's A mom and pop A local You know Shop small Type of business and they say to you oh my i love your show i've been listening for years and then i don't find what i'm looking for i don't find you know i don't find anything to buy i feel like i have to buy something i can and i also feel like

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 4:

like a thief if I walk out without buying something.

01:05:02 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say. It's like the weirdest feeling. Why? Mine is not guilt about whether or not you helped me. You know what? Thank you. I appreciate you, but I don't feel guilty that you had to do that. But if I walk out and I didn't purchase anything, I assume you think I'm stealing. So I'm going to buy anything to make sure that you know that I'm not stealing, even if I don't need or want anything. And then I'm like, she's not going to listen to the show anymore. I didn't buy anything.

01:05:25 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's the worst. Yeah, that's it. You know what I've done in that situation? I hate that feeling.

01:05:29 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 1:

I feel bad like I'm not buying anything. I go, you're so awesome. I'm going to post an Instagram story and say what a great story this is because you guys are listeners. You support us. We'll support you, and that's what you do because then I'm not spending any of this. It's a good idea. It's like I support small business. I'm supporting our listeners who keep us in business. It goes both ways, but I'm still not buying anything.

01:05:53 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 2:

Karen, you want Karen White's comment on my butt. What's that, Karen?

01:05:56 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, Mondo, you have what is a very specific medical condition that happens to men as they age and their butt disappears It is referred to as a frog butt Why frog butt? Well, think about how a frog looks and how, like, the frog disappears into nothing and then legs

01:06:21 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 2:

That's what I got

01:06:21 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 4:

You go from body to legs Yeah, that might be me

01:06:24 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I've had this my whole life, so it hasn't been as I've aged that it's gotten worse.

01:06:29 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, honestly. Oh, well, that's a chronic condition then.

01:06:33 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 1:

Started as tadpole butt when he was little.

01:06:37 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 2:

Helena, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:06:40 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so I was in Belgium this summer, and I was in a super small town, and I went into a boutique. And it was only one worker, and she kept giving me stuff to try on. And I felt pressured to buy a $200 sweater because that was the cheapest item. So I bought it.

01:06:56 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. $200 sweater. And you're in another country. You can't return it.

01:07:01 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 6:

No. Nope. Nope. And there was even more money there.

01:07:04 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 2:

In another country? I don't care about it. I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm never going to see these people again. Julie, what's going on?

01:07:10 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so I was shopping in one of my favorite stores, and I ran into a co-worker of mine who's like an extra, extra small girl. She's just really tiny. and we were both looking at this same dress and she's like oh my god you should get it and i could get it and you know we'd wear them on the same day or something and they had her size and then they have small and then um um a large and i tend to be more in the medium range and she's like oh totally you could get it probably runs kind of big and everything i didn't want to try it on because i didn't want her to see it to be too small so i ended up buying the small dress never wore the damn thing. And I had ended up giving it away to Goodwill with the tickets still out of it. She kept asking me, when are we going to wear our dresses?

01:07:57 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 2:

That's funny.

01:07:58 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 7:

I wanted her to buy it because I didn't want her to know that I actually probably needed a bigger stuff.

01:08:02 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Something bigger. Can I tell you something, Julie, to relate to exactly what you just said? Sometimes I'll get helped in a store by a very attractive girl and I don't want to tell her that I don't fit into the double X shirt that she got me because if you're bigger than a double X, I feel like, uh-oh, she's going to look at me weird. So I'll walk out of there and think of anything I can to let her know that it doesn't fit without telling her it doesn't fit. Like I'll go, oh, you know what I just realized? I had that same color.

01:08:31 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you know what I realized? You know what I mean? Oh, these jeans don't have that little pocket that I don't know what to put in there.

01:08:37 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I've done that too where it's just like, oh, it just kind of hung funny or whatever.

01:08:42 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

I just don't want her to, even though she can look at me and go, look at you. I know. I can't believe sometimes I'll go into stores and they'll go, are you a large? And I'm like, oh, she's definitely hitting on me then. A large? I haven't been a large since I was in middle school. What's happening, Taylor?

01:09:00 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I noticed before I even walk in the store, the Girl Scout cookies always get you.

01:09:05 - 01:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I always feel obligated to buy from any kid that's standing in front of a store at a table with their parent, you know? Yeah. Those kids get you all the time. And then sometimes you get those crazy little bastards that ask you to buy on the way out, too.

01:09:20 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:09:22 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Shawna?

01:09:24 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So I've been in that situation, and if I don't like any items so that I'm not stuck with it, I leave a tip and just tell them thank you for your time.

01:09:32 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Wow, you can do that?

01:09:34 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 5:

Yes. And they're so grateful they don't feel bad that they spent all that time with you.

01:09:39 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Well, that's a good idea I never thought about because then it's going directly in their pocket without the paycheck. And then I don't have to worry about...

01:09:45 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 5:

playing white elephant games and passing it on.

01:09:49 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 2:

And do they actually act weird when you're tipping them? Like, do they say,

01:09:53 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

sometimes they're like, Oh, I can't do that. And I'm like, you know what? And I'll put it, I'll hand it to him. I'll force it to him. And then they're like, okay, and I'll hurry. But I didn't think.

01:10:00 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 3:

and they say they're not allowed to. Wow. But then I go home, I feel better. They're happy that they didn't waste their time, and then they're excited to help you next time because they know that they're going to make something even if you don't like what they got.

01:10:12 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 1:

God, I'm going to try that. That's actually a fantastic idea. You know what I mean? Like, I'd rather be out of $10 than be out of, you know, however much they were. Somebody was just saying that they buy their jeans at Costco. And, you know, it's funny. I buy everything at Costco. I have a hard time with anything other than socks and underwear. I can't buy clothes there. The sweatshirts, their arms are never long enough for me. And the pants are never big enough for me.

01:10:41 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I love the hoodies there. I bought a few hoodies there. But I never thought about jeans there. I mean, Costco is made for smaller people, I think. Yeah, well, maybe I should look at everything then. I mean, I know you could easily return anything. They got such a great return policy.

01:10:54 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I Googled frog butt. I literally had to turn my microphone off I can't stop laughing over here If you are not driving Google frog butt What Mojo has I am crying

01:11:07 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 4:

It is so dang funny Mojo with the pancake booty And the back with the crack

01:11:13 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 1:

And I know what's going to happen That little guy over here Who's giggling over here He's going to like photoshop me on a frog Thanks Ribbit All right, it's time now for a phone scam. Sandy has been trying to switch the life insurance plan that she has through her work. Her coworkers say that she has been really frustrated because it's been like a really complicated process. Spike is going to make it even more complicated with this phone scam this morning.

01:11:45 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. You're home with the world famous phone scams.

01:11:51 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

01:11:52 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 4:

Yes, hello. I'm looking for Sandy, please.

01:11:55 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 3:

This is Sandy.

01:11:56 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Sandy. This is Ty Lannister, manager of the insurance. I'm Scott's supervisor. You've been speaking with him? Yeah. What's your name? Ty Lannister. I'm the manager. I go over every policy before we draft the final version for you to sign. If you just have a minute or two, I'd like to review everything. Yeah. Great. Well, your rider looks pretty simple. I just have a few questions to button this up. Are you an hourly employee at W**** or are you salaried?

01:12:22 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 3:

I'm full-time there.

01:12:24 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 4:

Okay. The last thing that he hasn't gone over with you are some of the riders. We offer supplemental coverage for various scenarios, so I just want to get your yes or no on these before we would have coverage in these above and beyond your existing policy. So if you want to amend your coverage to include any of these, then I'll email you the details to review before we get final paperwork drawn up.

01:12:42 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Are these things going to cost me extra money?

01:12:45 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 4:

Most of them would. That's why we don't put them in the coverage. You can get them above and beyond. So, for instance, the first on the list would be wildfires, supplemental coverage, so if your injury or death were from a wildfire. No, no. Okay, so you understand that wouldn't be covered in your normal coverage. I understand, yeah. You'd waive that, okay. Do you want terrorism coverage? It states you get paid if your death or injury is due to an act of terror. Terrorism? Yeah, it wouldn't be covered under normal circumstances.

01:13:13 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:13:14 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 4:

How about rampant obesity? who's obesity me well yeah it's just if your death were due to extreme obesity that i think because the normal policy they state you would obviously that'd be something self-inflicted

01:13:29 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 3:

i have no worries about becoming an obese person no no coverage there okay just asking foodborne

01:13:37 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 4:

illness would you want that policy what born illness foodborne illness people die of food poisoning? Oh, yes, ma'am. It is the 73rd most common cause of death in this country, but a lot

01:13:48 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 3:

of people... No, I don't watch food poisoning coverage. No, thank you. Do you want the rider

01:13:53 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 4:

for traumatic brain injury associated with sports? No. I'm an older woman. I don't participate in

01:14:01 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 3:

sports, so I don't need that. How about global warming? Well, I'm not paying insurance for global warming.

01:14:08 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 4:

Okay. What about gingivitis?

01:14:11 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 3:

You mean like gum disease?

01:14:13 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 4:

If you died from gingivitis.

01:14:15 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 3:

I'm just trying to get money off of people. Who dies of gingivitis?

01:14:19 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Just a few more. Botched plastic surgery. This covers any cosmetic enhancements that you have done.

01:14:24 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

01:14:25 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 4:

Okay. No plastic surgery. Death by prison gangs?

01:14:30 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 3:

Prison gangs? You've got to be kidding. No.

01:14:32 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 4:

What about lack of health insurance?

01:14:36 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 3:

Lack of what?

01:14:37 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 4:

If you died, if your death or injury were a cause of lack of health insurance.

01:14:42 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that what I'm getting here? I'm getting insurance?

01:14:45 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 4:

Right. Okay, we'll pass that one. Gerrymandering?

01:14:50 - 01:14:50 | Unknown:

What?

01:14:50 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 4:

Do you want supplemental coverage for gerrymandering?

01:14:53 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 3:

What is that?

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm not authorized to give legal or medical advice. I just have to get a yes or no, basically.

01:15:00 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 5:

No. Whatever it is. If I don't know what it is, no.

01:15:03 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 3:

All right. Just a few last ones then. Orbiting space pollution?

01:15:07 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 5:

Repeat that again.

01:15:08 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 3:

Orbiting space pollution. Do you want additional coverage if you're struck by a falling satellite or any space junk? No. You know, it's not a mathematical impossibility, but we can't include it in our general policy.

01:15:18 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 4:

What are the chances of that? Like one in eight zillion?

01:15:21 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 3:

I don't have the numbers for this year yet. They haven't come in. What about sexism in the media and entertainment world?

01:15:28 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 5:

What does that have to do with me?

01:15:30 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm just running through all of them. No. Okay.

01:15:32 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 5:

No, you're not getting any money out of me for that one either.

01:15:36 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 3:

Surly or rambunctious teenagers? No. Inability to get into desirable nightclubs? How many more are there? Just one. What about phone scams if you die of hilarity or embarrassment due to being phone scammed by the Mojo on the morning show?

01:15:53 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 4:

I should have f***ing known.

01:15:54 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 3:

just a phone scam obviously we're not really from your insurance company well i'm glad but let me just tell you you should reconsider that orbiting space junk if you if a satellite falls

01:16:06 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 1:

we will we will scam you you're home with the phone scams this is mojo in the morning hey good morning good morning all of us here uh uh spike shannon myself mojo uh megan mike

01:16:39 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 2:

we've got uh reese kp lydia and katie good to have you guys here our phone number is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text is 95500 your home of the phone scams the war of the roses and the dirty on the 30 we got them all this morning you know what i got a couple of stories here that i just wanted to bring up because i was during our last song kind of looking at what's in the news and i found these stories and i thought these were pretty interesting who falls in love faster a man or a woman who would you think men men we're asking megan i actually say that too wow that was so

01:17:28 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 5:

disrespectful i can't have an opinion on love no but i've never been in love people have never

01:17:33 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 2:

loved me what's your point but actually that's kind of a nice that's something very nice you said about us men that we'd like to fall in love i've never said i love you first oh really ever why because you're flex are you afraid that they won't you know reciprocate no i just wasn't never

01:17:49 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 5:

at that point but really saying it oh i say can i tell you something i've always said i love you

01:17:55 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 2:

first that's my point yeah is it during sex yeah um most to get sex yeah you know what honestly I've said it during, but most men know that they are in love after just one date, believe it or not. For the women, it takes three to four dates for them to figure out whether or not they think that they can love that person.

01:18:20 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 5:

So you gave me crap and I was right?

01:18:22 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 2:

No, you're absolutely right. But I find it interesting because most people feel like guys are not commitment people. You know what I mean? That they don't want to commit. Oh, love and commitment is not the same thing.

01:18:31 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 4:

No, that's true. But did you see the video that I feel like I've been seeing a lot on TikTok of the girl who said it is very dependent on timing for guys when it comes to them being in love and getting married, that they marry the girl who's in front of them at the time they decide to, that they're ready to get married. Whether she's the love of his life or not, it's the minute he, a guy decides, okay, I'm like financially and emotionally ready to get married. Whomever he's dating at that time is the girl

01:19:02 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 2:

Wow

01:19:03 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 4:

Shannon that makes so much sense I'll pull the video Because my friends and I were talking about it And whether or not it's true

01:19:10 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting I want to ask this of KP and Lydia and Reese And Megan You just made the cut on that

01:19:20 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh thank you I'm so glad I get to participate in today's show

01:19:24 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 2:

01:19:28 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, now you're calling me old

01:19:30 - 01:19:32 | Speaker 2:

No, I called you young enough

01:19:32 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 5:

No, he actually called me old This is a fun show

01:19:36 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 2:

They are saying That people who are between The ages of 20 years old To 31 years old You just made the cut Alright

01:19:49 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 4:

I love that we're roasting him He's roasting me He started this

01:19:54 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 3:

She's cranky like an old person According trying to fight me i did literally nothing again i love you i i came i i came back to give you hugs

01:20:08 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 5:

today i hate ready for this according to a survey of those between the ages of 18 to 31 years old a majority of women say that they would be fine with receiving or giving an engagement ring that doesn't have a diamond that a one in five millennials would be open to tying the knot permanently with a tattoo ring instead of even a a ring from a jewelry store and that if there was no diamond at all or if it was something else like maybe it was just like a band or some people even have done watches before have you heard about that some people will actually do engagement watches with each other like or wrist uh you know those those bands that people make for like charities and things like that sometimes people will actually get the rubber bracelets um would you guys or do you guys want rings kp i don't have headphones you know what i'm

01:21:07 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 1:

talking we're all here in the room can you not hear me megan said something sorry no no um i feel like people are becoming less traditional so not having a ring is like i feel like that's why but

01:21:17 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 5:

What about you?

01:21:18 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

I would want a ring, I think.

01:21:19 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 5:

You want a ring?

01:21:19 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 1:

I don't care about the size of the ring and, like, a bunch of bling on it. I'm very minimal with what I would want.

01:21:25 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 5:

Lydia, what do you want? What do you want there?

01:21:28 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, give me that rock. Put that rock on my finger.

01:21:31 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I want to talk about Lydia here in a second because Lydia, I heard, got together with her ex-boyfriend over break.

01:21:38 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 4:

Ooh.

01:21:39 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 5:

We're going to have to figure out what that is. Maybe that's what she's talking about. Maybe she's putting out the word to him if he's listening to the show right now.

01:21:47 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I did read an article, though, that said the millennials are falling out of favor with the expensive diamond rings, the traditional engagement rings, that for them it's more about what it looks like and more sentimental value than it is about a big diamond.

01:22:00 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 5:

Megan, rock or no rock?

01:22:02 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 3:

So the reasonable part of me wants to be like, love is love, and it doesn't matter if you get anything. It's about the person and the commitment to each other. But if I'm being honest, I think I get jealous when I see girls walking around with beautiful jewelry that I think that I will never get. So I can understand the appeal because I do think, especially when it's new, it makes girls feel prettier. Like it makes you feel loved and appreciated and special. And I do understand wanting that feeling. But I'm also, I love that rings are becoming more unique. so you can change the color. I feel like when I look at my parents' age group, everybody has the same wedding ring. So it's nice to see some variety.

01:22:49 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 5:

No, I agree with you. I think that there is something cool to the fact that there's an indication of, hey, we're engaged. Or there's like, hey, look at that. We got engaged. And let me show you the thing. Because everybody always looks right away. Let me see your hand. But it doesn't have to be a traditional looking ring or something that, like you said, looks like your parents' ring. What's up, Aaron? You wanted to comment on one of these stories?

01:23:11 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 6:

Yes. I believe that women fall in love faster than men because I'm going through a divorce, and my ex-wife already has a new boyfriend, and the divorce isn't even finalized.

01:23:22 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 7:

So based on your study of one, she was fast. I'm sorry, buddy. How long after divorce?

01:23:32 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 6:

We started divorce in November, and she's already got a new boyfriend.

01:23:36 - 01:23:37 | Speaker 7:

Holy cow.

01:23:37 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 6:

And it won't be finalized until June.

01:23:40 - 01:23:42 | Speaker 7:

You don't think she might have already had the boyfriend, do you?

01:23:44 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 6:

I don't know, but it just sucked.

01:23:47 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 5:

How long did you go through your divorce? I know you said it was November. Did you say finalized in November or started in November? Are you finalized?

01:23:58 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 6:

Started in November.

01:23:59 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, we're not even finalized. Oh, wow. Well, whenever that happens and you see that those people, sometimes I think either they had somebody ahead of time or had them while you guys were still together, or they're just going to race into another relationship and cause for issues. They need to have a little bit of a breather time. Cool enough, period. Sam, what's up?

01:24:22 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 2:

I most definitely think men fall in love first. They just don't ever like to admit it.

01:24:27 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 5:

That's true. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, they're too macho to admit it, probably.

01:24:32 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, absolutely. Think about it. When the girl says, I love you first, the man responds back with, I love you too. Obviously, they were in love, weren't they? So why can't they admit it first?

01:24:41 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, that's true. Can I tell you what I did? It still took me eight years to propose to my wife, but the second date I had with my wife, I didn't tell her that my mom was coming into town, and we got dinner. It was my birthday weekend. And I told my mom when she went to the bathroom, I said, there's something different about her. She's different than all the rest of the girls. I think

01:25:00 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 2:

up in love. Immediately, my mom was like, sure you are. Sure you are. Whatever you say, Mike. And I ended up marrying her, but it took me eight years. I never told her that right then. Wow, so you told your mom, but you didn't tell her. That's interesting.

01:25:11 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 5:

Mike, you're a retired F-boy, right? Yes.

01:25:14 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 3:

That's why mom wasn't buying the story.

01:25:17 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Tony. What's up? You want to talk about the engagement rings? Yes.

01:25:21 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Morning. What's going on? My husband, well, my now husband, he knew the requirements, but he was dating me that a big, gaudy ring was required. Did you send him your Pinterest? It was required. We had a conversation early on. I don't know why, but I was one of those kids always at Walmart buying the fake, cheap, big, bling jewelry. So I had my wedding ring picked out for years. And so on one of our, probably our third date, I showed them, like, hey, just so you know, if you want to keep this around, this is required.

01:25:56 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 2:

I like it. And diamonds are a girl's best friend.

01:26:00 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

That's right. He lived up to the expectation. He did a really good job.

01:26:03 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 2:

Good.

01:26:03 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

Good.

01:26:04 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, I want to know what's going on with this guy. So Lydia, over the holiday break, came over to our house. We had to do some wrap-up on Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish and do some last-minute wishes, sending them out during the holidays to some people that really needed checks and needed the ability to be able to keep their power on during the holidays. So she came over to the house, and then we ordered dinner and hung out there. And Chelsea was asking you questions, and I was asking you questions. And one of them was about this boyfriend of yours. You saw him over the Christmas break? Ex-boyfriend. This was my ex-boyfriend. Yes. The guy that broke your heart, right? Because you talked about him before. You don't want to say his name.

01:26:49 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 5:

I feel like if I say his name, should I say it? No, you don't have to.

01:26:52 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 2:

Let's call him. Let's call him. Ex.

01:26:55 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 5:

You know what I call him to my therapist? Yeah. I call him gas station guy. Oh, let's call him.

01:26:59 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 2:

I like that. Wait, is that a Chaldean thing? Gas station guy?

01:27:03 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 5:

Does he own a gas station guy? He owns a gas station guy.

01:27:04 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 2:

He owns a gas station guy. Yeah, let's call him gas station guy. I like it.

01:27:07 - 01:27:07 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:27:07 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 4:

But this is the guy that texts the show all the time when we talk about you.

01:27:12 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 2:

Wait, why do you not call his name to your therapist?

01:27:15 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 5:

I even call that to my friends.

01:27:17 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, do you do? Okay, all right.

01:27:19 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 5:

Wait, who doesn't have a name?

01:27:20 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 3:

Background, how long did you guys date?

01:27:22 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 5:

We dated probably for about, okay, we've been on and off since like 2017, 2018. Oh, wow, okay.

01:27:29 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 3:

And then when did you last break up?

01:27:31 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 5:

We broke up, I want to say in August.

01:27:34 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and then Shannon said he occasionally will text the show about you? He does.

01:27:38 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he does text the show. I didn't even see those.

01:27:40 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 3:

Does he text in his gas station guy?

01:27:42 - 01:27:42 | Unknown:

No.

01:27:43 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 4:

No, no.

01:27:43 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay. What does he say in the text?

01:27:46 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 4:

He'll just comment, like if we're doing a topic with Lydia or about Lydia, he always comments, and it's always kind. Yeah. Like, he never has anything bad to say about you.

01:27:55 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 5:

No, because we're best friends.

01:27:56 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 4:

Right.

01:27:56 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 5:

We're still best friends.

01:27:57 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 3:

Is this the one that Mojo met at your graduation, at your party?

01:28:00 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes, he did.

01:28:00 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Good looking guy.

01:28:02 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:28:03 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so you guys get along.

01:28:05 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 2:

And you were together over the break. What happened?

01:28:08 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 5:

So we went to go see Holiday Lights. And then after Holiday Lights, we exchanged gifts because we both agreed, I guess, that we were going to get each other something for Christmas.

01:28:15 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 4:

Because you're best friends.

01:28:16 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 5:

Yes. And we were sitting in the car. He was about to drop me off. And I mentioned maybe getting back together. So previously before that, he has told me, yeah, maybe we should get back together. And I've been the one that's like, no, I don't think so. Well, flash forward to now, I mentioned getting back together with him. And he said, I don't think it's the right time.

01:28:36 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 3:

What?

01:28:36 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's the right time. And I was feeling offended.

01:28:41 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 3:

So he was on board earlier, but not now. What change does he have? A girlfriend he's not telling you about?

01:28:46 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. That's what I'm kind of like.

01:28:47 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 2:

Let's call a gas station guy. Where's his phone number at? We're going to get a gas station guy on. Call him. Is he working right now?

01:28:53 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 5:

No, he's at home. Okay, because I was going to say,

01:28:56 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 2:

you ever go into a gas station and the guy's on the phone when you're trying to buy something? It's so annoying.

01:29:00 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 4:

Every time. Like, I just want a lottery ticket. Yeah. Okay?

01:29:03 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 2:

But usually, most of my Chaldean buddies that own, like, gas stations, like the Shell station, they got the earpieces in. I don't even know they're talking to somebody.

01:29:10 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:29:11 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 2:

You know? So, um...

01:29:13 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

I'm seriously perplexed by that because that is, like, mega mixed signals to me that he came to your party You guys exchange gifts. You hang out together all the time. He sends these incredibly beautiful texts about you.

01:29:25 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and we talk all day, every day. No, I don't buy it. So what do you think? I think that he respects you as someone who's, like, trying to get into her career and stuff and, like, doesn't want to ruin it. Really? Or do you think he's just comfortable? I think he's comfortable. And a lot of guys in this generation like the situationships. They don't want to do the commitment, but they want the girl around.

01:29:46 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 4:

But if another guy came and asked you on a date, he would freak the F out. Game over. That's you.

01:29:53 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 5:

What's up?

01:29:53 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 3:

You got to be our stunt guy to make him jealous.

01:29:58 - 01:29:58 | Unknown:

Hurry.

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Hurry. You can make it.

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 3:

Wait, he did say something about that yesterday. He said something about that. He's like, oh, I see you wished Reese a happy birthday. Oh, he did? Yeah, he did.

01:30:07 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 5:

He gets jealous. No, the last thing I need is another person on me after Ronda,

01:30:11 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 1:

and I don't need this guy now. So, okay, so let me ask this question of Calvin, guys. This is different, Mojo, than our generation, isn't it? Because we didn't want to be friend-zoned. So she's saying these guys just like the situationship and hanging out. We just wanted the physical first, didn't we?

01:30:25 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're absolutely right. But can I tell you something, though? this might be different culturally too because and i might have to ask our chaldean friends of this one our our chaldean guys like they sometimes sometimes chaldean guys don't rate like girls don't chaldean girls don't date a lot no right well they did they do but they just secretly they just don't tell their parents about it but maybe he's not at that age where he wants to settle down so he's trying to keep you kind of hanging there but it's weird most of my chaldean guy friends, once they hit that age where they got to get married, boom!

01:31:00 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 3:

See, that's what I just said. That's exactly what I just said. Here's my thing. I've already met his mom. That's a big deal in the Calvian community. That's what I think.

01:31:12 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 5:

Do you think he's doing this with other girls too, though? No. Not if he introduced her to his mom, because he's not going to introduce a bunch of girls to his mom.

01:31:20 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 3:

Now he says labels are for other people. It's not for us.

01:31:23 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 5:

What does that mean? We need to know.

01:31:26 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 3:

I liked him so much until this conversation He's going to feel so sad I wonder if he's listening

01:31:32 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 5:

I love gas station guy 844-MOCHO-LIVE 844-665-6548 By the way for the people in Toledo and Grand Rapids That don't know what a Chaldean is Chaldeans are Iraqi Catholics They're predominant in the Detroit area Lydia is one They're great people Unfairly gorgeous The girls are gorgeous The guys, whatever, you know, whatever. But they're tough and they're nice and, you know, whatever. And this guy, by the way, has a full head of hair. Let me tell you that. Most of my Chaldean buddies.

01:32:08 - 01:32:09 | Speaker 2:

Real hair or hair from Turkey?

01:32:09 - 01:32:11 | Speaker 5:

No, it's his real hair. He's never had a hair.

01:32:12 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 2:

What? Legitimate question. He's got great. No, she's right. A lot of Chaldean guys get their hair from Turkey.

01:32:20 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 5:

This guy has great hair. He's got a great beard. He's a good looking guy. He's got kind of a croft chin. Like he's got like one of those What's that Like he's got like a Pointy

01:32:28 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 3:

He's handsome

01:32:29 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah he's got a handsome He's got like You know what he's got He's got like a movie star chin

01:32:34 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh

01:32:34 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 5:

He's got one of those movie star chins Yeah

01:32:36 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 4:

Can you send me a photo

01:32:37 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 2:

01:32:49 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 2:

01:32:53 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 3:

01:32:54 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 5:

Can we call him up? Do you have his phone number or do you not want to do that?

01:32:57 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 3:

I can call him up. Let's see if he'll answer.

01:32:59 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 5:

Dial up your phone.

01:33:00 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 3:

Let me go see.

01:33:01 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 4:

All right. So minus the mom thing, though. This sounds like all things I would have said back in the day. Oh, I don't want to put a label on it. I don't want to put a label on it. And I would be talking to other girls, too.

01:33:10 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 2:

But you knew you were in love with Allie.

01:33:13 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 4:

Well, that was a long... I'm talking before Allie.

01:33:15 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

01:33:16 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:33:17 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 2:

I'm talking way before Allie. Okay. Because I know you and Allie broke up for a hot second third. Yeah.

01:33:21 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But this was, I mean, when I was not the greatest human being in the entire world, like these are lines I would have said to a girl to just so I didn't feel bad for going out and do other stuff.

01:33:32 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 5:

I love this texter. This texter says, hey, Mojo, you should find another Chaldean guy to be Lydia's stunt boyfriend. Take a bunch of pictures, show them all out in places, and we'll see gas station guy put a ring on that fast. That's actually an interesting one. Because you know what it is? Not that, Reese, you're not a good-looking guy. You are. But a guy like Reese goes out with Lydia. Okay, you can tell that they're in the friend zone. They're friends. You get another good-looking Chaldean guy. Like, we find somebody. You have so many Chaldean friends. I got a million of them. I got tons. Seriously. Honorary Chaldean over here. I'm going to call up a Cousar, George.

01:34:11 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 2:

You guys know everybody.

01:34:12 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. A Serafa or a Mana. And I'm going to ask them to, you know, give me one of your nephews or somebody. We're going to get Lydia out on about. Okay, we're calling him up. We're calling up gas station guy right now. Are you putting him on? Is it ringing? Here, put it on hold. Let me see if I can pick up that.

01:34:30 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is he not going to answer?

01:34:31 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 5:

Wait, let's call up his gas station. Do you got his gas station's number? No, she said he's home. Oh, he's at home. Let's call up the gas station and talk to whoever it works for him.

01:34:38 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:34:43 - 01:34:44 | Unknown:

Come on.

01:34:45 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 3:

Pick up.

01:34:50 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Pressure is on. pick up the phone tell us tell us the phrase that pays and

01:35:00 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 2:

You win $1,000. Oh, he's not going to answer.

01:35:08 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 1:

Does he let you have candy for free?

01:35:10 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

If he's Chaldean first, he's got to see which of his three phones is ringing.

01:35:13 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Slim Jims?

01:35:14 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

He gives you Slim Jims. Does he? Wait. Question for you. Do you get to fill up for free?

01:35:19 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 1:

No. Really? He's never offered that to me. Ever.

01:35:23 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. Well, it's because money's got to come somewhere, right?

01:35:27 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

That's all accounted for.

01:35:28 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 2:

Is it a family gas station? So maybe, I don't know. It is, yeah. By the way, how great would it be if your family owned a gas station or like a grocery store?

01:35:38 - 01:35:39 | Speaker 3:

I'd date him for the gas.

01:35:42 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

I'd date him just so that I'd date him. I'd date him. That's exactly. So I could actually pick what you put on the bathroom key. There's always something attached to the bathroom key. There's like a tchotchke. Yeah. I'd put Mojo in the morning logos on the bathroom keys. Lydia, I'm sorry, but it doesn't look like we're going to get much out of this whole thing. I'm also sorry, too. Look at some of these Chaldean texters there. They're texting in. People are saying that, Lydia, you are too beautiful to put up with this. It is time for you to move on. We should do a Lydia dating game. Oh, you know what would be funny? Maybe an arranged marriage. What do you think about that? I'll pass. No? Okay. All right. You don't trust me? Charles, what's going on?

01:36:34 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 3:

This is the most thirstiest conversation I've heard at the beginning of the year. Yes. Mojo was talking about this guy as if he was going to date him like he came from the heavens.

01:36:46 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 2:

Well, I told you. He's a little dreamy. I mean, he's got that beautiful beard and the beautiful head of hair. I actually, to be honest with you, didn't think he was Chaldean Because he's one of those Chaldean guys, Charles That looks just like a white dude He just looks like a regular dude Yeah, like I even asked you, Lydia I'm like, Lydia, no wonder why you're not telling your dad about this guy

01:37:06 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 1:

Wait, let me see Oh, here, I'm going to show you

01:37:08 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 3:

So you have to keep him away from Mojo then Yeah, keep him away

01:37:12 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 2:

What do you think about the idea of doing the Lydia dating game?

01:37:17 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 3:

I feel like you shouldn't tap with people in relationships Yeah You know? What do you think? With all the water roses, y'all do so. I mean, let her get a feel for the guy. And then bring him up to the show and then throw him on air.

01:37:27 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever listened to this show? You just told Mojo not to get involved in people's relationships?

01:37:33 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 2:

Charles, do you think that he'll come around?

01:37:36 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 3:

Rate him.

01:37:37 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 1:

What kind of time?

01:37:38 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 3:

I think eventually, yeah. But I don't know how Cal Dean may have worked. Give him a nine. I don't know how he may work in general.

01:37:44 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:37:46 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 3:

Shannon's looking at his photo, giving him a nine out of ten. Well, she just said rate him. Yeah, I wanted her to rate him.

01:37:50 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 2:

It's 9 out of 10. See, I told you. He's a good-looking guy. Yeah, not bad. All right. To be continued. That's all I can say. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. So, Shannon, you got invited to a wedding.

01:38:05 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

01:38:06 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 2:

And this is actually the topic that we're going to get into right now. What's the strangest invite that you've ever gotten? Like something out of the blue. Like somebody invited you to a wedding or to a baby shower or whatever it might be. And you were like, me? You're like, why are they inviting me?

01:38:24 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 1:

And I have to tell you, I have to preface this story with I'm very, very flattered, but also very, very confused. So Wes called me the other day and he said, we just got invited to a wedding. And I said, whose wedding did we get invited to? And when he told me who it was, I was just perplexed because it was my longtime Uber driver, who Wes now uses as well. And I won't say his name, just out of respect for him, because I don't know if he wants me sharing this story or if people know that he's getting married. But he called Wes to ask him because he just wanted to be respectful and not call me and share the news with Wes or whatever part of his culture, which is fine. But Wes was like, oh, my gosh, you know, we're we're so flattered that that you thought of us. We didn't even know that you were in a relationship, let alone getting married. And so Wes said, OK, you know, when is when is the wedding? So we can put it on our calendar and see if we can make it. Well, the wedding is this week, this weekend. Here's the kicker. It's in Pakistan.

01:39:30 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 2:

Really? It's in Pakistan. And the guy, how are you supposed to make travel arrangements to go to Pakistan?

01:39:35 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

He said, he goes, I've got your tickets covered. So I don't know if that meant that he was going to buy us tickets. God bless them to Pakistan, which I'm not going to Pakistan. Or like if he was going to send us a link. I don't know how that was going to work. But he wanted us to attend his wedding in Pakistan. Now, mind you, this is the guy, and I've talked about him before. I met him. He drove me home.

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 3:

after our Halloween party at the Royal Oak Music Theater, what, a couple years ago? Yeah. Four years ago, you know, whatever, five years ago. And I loved him so much that anytime I've needed a ride to the airport or wherever since then, I just call him. So I've known him for a while. Yeah, yeah. But I see him maybe twice a year.

01:40:19 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 1:

You should do it just for the trip to Pakistan.

01:40:21 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 3:

I can't go to Pakistan.

01:40:22 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 1:

The only problem, though, is it's not like it would be a wedding in, say, I don't know, Florida or Nashville because I don't know if you can go to Pakistan for a weekend.

01:40:32 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 2:

Pakistan seems like a place you have to go. You need a good two weeks. Yeah.

01:40:36 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:40:36 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:40:38 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:40:38 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 3:

But I'm like, I just didn't, I was, again, flattered to get the invite, but kind of random.

01:40:43 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 1:

I think that it would be great just for show purposes to be able to say, Shannon's going to the Uber driver's wedding in Pakistan. I mean, that just right there. That right there sums up, you know, the relationship that we'll have with random people.

01:40:57 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 3:

I love that Wes was like, oh, you know, when is it? Thinking it was going to be in the fall or whatever. So we can put it on our calendar and make sure we can be there. It's next week.

01:41:04 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 1:

What kind of money is an Uber driver making that he can afford to actually fly guests to his wedding in Pakistan?

01:41:09 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he is a wonderful Uber driver.

01:41:11 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 1:

Maybe he's got his own business. Maybe this is a driving business. The Uber thing is just something that he does for a hobby. Maybe it's not that fun. I got invited to a wedding of one of the people that works here at the radio station. And we got a lot of people. Like we have departments, so we have us on the air, so that's called the programming department. Then you have the sales people that we talk about all the time, the people that sell the ads and stuff. Then we have the traffic department, okay, so this traffic department here. Then we have our engineering department and then promotions department, okay, so those are the departments that are here. This is a person way back when that worked in the engineering department, that he was getting married, and I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. The only engineers I deal with on a regular basis or have over the years, Randy and Mark, those are the two guys. At least the last 10 years. This was one of the guys that was like not one of the main player guys that I would see all the time. And I got an invite for her, and I saw the name. And Chelsea goes, who is that? I go, I have no idea. So I went to Facebook and go on Facebook to go look up the name because I didn't even know what the guy's last name was. And I look up the name and go, oh, that's so-and-so. I'm our engineer.

01:42:27 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 2:

You know why he got the invite. They know you're very generous with the gifts. Is that what it was? They don't want you to come. They just want you to send a gift in your absence.

01:42:34 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 1:

We actually did send them a gift, so we just sent them a check and said, thank you so much. But we declined and couldn't make it.

01:42:42 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 2:

For the low cost of one invitation, they got a really nice gift.

01:42:45 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 1:

It's interesting.

01:42:47 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 4:

I saw somebody online who was sending wedding invitations to millionaires and billionaires' houses, hoping that they would pass on going to the wedding, but still signing a check not knowing who it was but thinking they were important for having the address. So genius.

01:43:00 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I bet it happens a lot. They have a personal assistant or a secretary or somebody that just replies to everything, and they run the names by him and goes, nope, nope, pass, pass, pass, and then they just send gifts out.

01:43:11 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm a millionaire. Morgan, and he was paying for you. Who were you surprised to get an invite from, Morgan?

01:43:18 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 6:

I got a baby shower invitation from someone I haven't talked to since elementary school.

01:43:26 - 01:43:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh.

01:43:26 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:43:27 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 1:

What do you think that's about? Is it just that they don't have a lot of friends?

01:43:34 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 6:

I'm not sure. All I know is on the invitation, it was asking everyone to bring in a package of diapers.

01:43:42 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Wow, that's interesting. Texter here says that I work at a Coney Island, and I got a person that comes in regularly, sits at the counter, says hi to me, getting married, invited me to their wedding. I bet you that happens to a lot of customers. Yeah. We've had a couple times where listeners have invited us, but I've also said, hey, you're getting married when I invite us to your wedding. You know what I mean? Yes. To be fair.

01:44:09 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 2:

I say the opposite. I'm like, please don't invite me to your wedding. I hate weddings. I don't want to go to your friend. Unless it's on a beach. You don't want to go to Pakistan? If it's destination and I don't have to wear a suit and tie, then you can invite me.

01:44:20 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 1:

We're talking about invites. What's the strangest invite you had? What was the invite that you had, Tina?

01:44:26 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Love you guys.

01:44:28 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 1:

Love you.

01:44:30 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 5:

So I am in car sales, and my customer asked me to go to lunch. Nice man. Bought a lot of Lincolns. He's like, I just want to do you a favor. So he takes me to the big fish And we're eating lunch And just out of the blue he says By the way would you like to have a threesome With me and my wife Oh

01:44:51 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Time to go Good question for you How do you respond to that Did his wife ever come

01:45:00 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 2:

in and uh check out the lincolns with you like you know what she looks like no nope no i know nothing oh wow never met her once yeah how yeah how did you respond to that to make sure that he doesn't go and get his lincolns from another dealership well i valet parked my car and i

01:45:16 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 6:

looked at my watch and i'm like oh gotta go great and i literally both you never responded with a no no i just said no i i said no and i had okay wow uh what's going on amy how you doing

01:45:29 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 7:

hi yes um i know that you can send a baby shower invitation to like pampers and gerber and other baby companies and they sometimes send you gifts really that's a great idea mike yeah take note

01:45:44 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 2:

yeah yeah that's a that's an incredible idea that's that's great marketing on their part if

01:45:49 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 3:

they're doing that you know absolutely isn't it the same thing like if you send a wedding invite to the oval or the white house they'll send you like letterhead back congratulating you on your

01:45:58 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 1:

wedding yeah that's pretty cool we did that we have a letter from bill clinton saying congratulations on your while we couldn't attend we wish we could have them that's pretty cool um what did you do

01:46:09 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 2:

with that then did you guys uh do you have that or i don't know where it is um that would be kind

01:46:14 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 5:

of cool a letter from the president what's going on jenna hi yeah i um when i was in college i went to taco bell so much that i befriended the lady in the drive-thru and she ended up inviting me to her baby shower and it was a pretty ratchet town that we were in so I declined but it was a nice offer. Wait did you did you send a gift at least? No I didn't actually get a formal invitation I had no idea where to send it she just told me about it in the drive-thru because I saw her at least

01:46:44 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 2:

twice a week. You know what in that case I would almost rather go to that or at least send a gift to that than go to like a cousin or somebody that you don't even talk to anymore. I went to my

01:46:57 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 1:

Starbucks barista's wedding. Did you?

01:46:59 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 2:

I remember you talked about that.

01:47:01 - 01:47:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we became really close friends because I saw her every morning for the better part of seven, eight years.

01:47:07 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 2:

Somebody said that you actually can go to Pakistan and get to Pakistan in and out on a four-day weekend. Can you really? Yeah. Shannon, by the way, I will send a beer nice gift. Shannon, you should do it. Honestly, you should do it, and you should see if you can bring the broadcast equipment that we use to broadcast from home when we have COVID.

01:47:26 - 01:47:30 | Speaker 4:

We can barely broadcast from home. Do you think I'm going to be able to broadcast from Pakistan?

01:47:30 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 2:

No, Pakistan has good Wi-Fi, I'm sure. It's all you need. What's up, Chelsea?

01:47:35 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I actually sent baby shower invites for my first, my daughter, her baby shower was in 2015, and I sent baby shower invitations to my regular doctor's nurses because I had been going there for you know years and me and the nurses were actually really close like we talked about like a lot of stuff like they talked to me too and i sent them invitations to my baby shower and they they both came like i talked to them wow i wonder if they like that or they asked to come they were happy oh that's cool because they have so many i had problems conceiving so when and they knew all about it so when it the time came for them it was special too that's cool that's nice

01:48:21 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 2:

That's nice that they came. What's up, James?

01:48:24 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 8:

Hello, Joe. So I just got married back in August, and we go to Black Rock and Ann Arbor so much. We had our waitresses from Black Rock there. Did you really? Yeah, it was awesome. They even brought us gifts. Oh, that's the best. That is very cool. Black Rock.

01:48:39 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 2:

That is so funny. Everybody was cool. You guys should have actually had the wedding at Black Rock. You could have the reception.

01:48:47 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 8:

Shout out to Black Rock and Ann Arbor.

01:48:49 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 2:

I like it. There you go. I like that. What's up, Larry?

01:48:52 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 9:

Hey, how you doing?

01:48:54 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 2:

Good, man. What's going on?

01:48:56 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 9:

So the invite that just absolutely floored me is, you know, I mean, I work on my TikTok, and I think I'm doing something with it. But when the Detroit Lions invited me to the home opener, gave me a jersey with my name on it, I got to hang out with Barry Sanders.

01:49:11 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 2:

I saw that. They invited a bunch of TikTok influencers, people who have a lot of... How many people do you have that follow you?

01:49:23 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 9:

182,000, something like that. Wow, that's amazing.

01:49:26 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Larry, you've got to do me a favor.

01:49:28 - 01:49:30 | Speaker 9:

Detroit Dad on TikTok.

01:49:30 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 2:

Detroit Dad? Yes. You've got to do us a favor. You've got to promote Mojo in the morning on your TikTok and tell people to follow our TikTok.

01:49:37 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 9:

I have. I have. Well, I didn't follow the TikTok, but I put you guys on there all the time. And most of my followers from Detroit.

01:49:45 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 2:

Let's collaborate with this guy.

01:49:46 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 3:

word have i found your page i feel like i know you megan commented yeah when i did that uh thing

01:49:53 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 9:

01:49:59 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 3:

as soon as you said you're here

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, I'm pretty sure you pop up on my For You page all the time.

01:50:03 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 4:

Larry, hold on. We're having you talk to Reese, okay? Well, we got to show some love to each other. All right, hold on one second. Taylor, speaking of the Lions, what did you do, Taylor? You sent an invite to the Lions?

01:50:14 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so my brother graduated a few years ago, and his high school graduation, he sent an invite to Darius Slay on Twitter, and Darius Slay came walking in our backyard. Oh, my God.

01:50:27 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 3:

No way. That's awesome

01:50:30 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 5:

If you do a Google search It's all over the internet He was interviewed by ESPN The news came out It was a huge deal That is so cool

01:50:40 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 3:

And we saw Taylor Swift kept doing that Taylor Swift always did it whenever she had a new album coming out

01:50:45 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 2:

She would send graduation cards and money

01:50:48 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 4:

Darius Slay was actually one of the coolest players ever And actually still plays for the Eagles, right? Still with the Philadelphia Eagles?

01:50:56 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know I don't keep up with it.

01:50:58 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. It was amazing. Could you imagine you're in your backyard for your high school graduation and the star of the Lions comes walking in. That's the best.

01:51:09 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 5:

Thanks for the call. And we still talk. We still keep in contact. Oh, my God. He's great. Wow. He's a great person. Yeah.

01:51:15 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. Thank you for the call. Absolutely. Bye, guys. Bye. Neither new nor improved, but still better than the rest. Just Mojo in the Morning.

01:51:24 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 3:

Motor in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s.

01:51:28 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with What's Trending right now. Shannon, what's going on?

01:51:31 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys remember, and this was a long time ago, 2005 to be exact, when Prince Harry wore a Nazi uniform to a costume party?

01:51:38 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he got a list.

01:51:39 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 2:

It was like the front page of every tabloid. Tons of crap, yeah. Well, in his new book, Spare, which drops on Tuesday, he blames his brother, Prince William, and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, for telling him to wear that. Oh, come on. Harry was 20 years old when the Sun newspaper published a front page photo of him dressed as a Nazi soldier with the big red armband, the big swastika on it. And in one segment of his memoir, Harry writes about choosing the outfit, revealing he was trying to choose between two costumes for this party, a pilot uniform or this Nazi uniform.

01:52:12 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hell.

01:52:12 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And he writes, quote, I phoned Willie and Kate, asked what they thought. Nazi uniform, they said. He said when he went home and tried it on for them, quote, unquote, they both howled worse than Willie's leotard outfit. Way more ridiculous.

01:52:27 - 01:52:31 | Speaker 4:

And if they told him to walk off of a bridge, he would walk off of a bridge.

01:52:31 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I can't defend this, but it does really speak to how incredibly privileged and out of touch these kids are. Like, it's so weird that you said 2005. 2005.

01:52:44 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 2:

You know better. And so one senior publishing person, source, I don't know what to call him, who has read Spare already ahead of its Tuesday drop, said, you know, it's Harry called this one of the biggest mistakes of his life. OK, fair. But he said it's strange, as you would think that Harry would just take ownership of it and move on and not drag his brother into it. But he makes it very, very clear that he feels strongly about William's role in the scandal and how William has consistently been let off the hook for all sorts of things.

01:53:16 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm interested to see how this plays out like long term growing up in their lives. Maybe this is a small snippet, but like that blame does not just go on him.

01:53:24 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 3:

Why bring it up again? You made the mistake. It doesn't matter who else laughed along. He shouldn't have brought up again because you're just dumb. You made the final decision to put that costume on.

01:53:33 - 01:54:10 | Speaker 1:

It was brought up in the Netflix documentary. The blame was not placed on Will at the time. I will say, unfortunately, I only watched the first three episodes when the second three dropped. I still haven't watched the second three. So I don't know if it was addressed again in the second three, but it was in the first three. He didn't blame his brother. And he did say it was, you know, the biggest mistake of my life. I went out to Africa for a few months afterwards. And I kind of realized what real life was and how out of touch I was and yada, yada, yada. Not that it excuses it. I mean, he's an adult man. And it was in 2005. You know better. But I'm interested to read the book to see if this was like a lifelong theme with Will and Kate influencing him to do bad things.

01:54:10 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 2:

It sounds like it was, that we're going to hear a lot about their, you know, William doing these sorts of things to him. There's a photo on Instagram of Lil Nas X with the members of the Wiggles. You guys know the Wiggles? Oh, yeah. Were any of your kids into the Wiggles? Were you in the Wiggles? Okay. Well, some parents are not happy about this. The photo was posted to the Wiggles IG page a couple of days ago. And in it, you see Lil Nas X holding one of the group's trademark, very colorful, jumpers. And the Post teased a potential collab at Australia's Falls Festival between Lil Nas X and the Wiggles. Be kind of interesting. But comments from enraged parents included, come on, guys. You advocate for innocent children's entertainment whilst simultaneously wanting to collaborate with a devil worshiper. Oh, my God.

01:54:57 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Are they the same people that forget that the Wiggles do? adult

01:55:00 - 01:55:09 | Speaker 3:

concerts. They do adult-only concerts. Right. Another one wrote, I don't see how someone who lap dances the devil in their music videos is a good candidate for working in the children's music industry.

01:55:10 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 5:

As long as I never have to hear fruit salad. Yummy.

01:55:13 - 01:55:17 | Speaker 3:

Read the comments. Go to the Wiggles Instagram page and read the comments on this post.

01:55:17 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 7:

They're so funny. Bill Nonsaxx is loving this. Right. He's like, this is the greatest thing ever.

01:55:23 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 3:

Sharon Osbourne randomly in the dirty today because she revealed the name of her daughter Kelly's baby boy Sydney is his name, named after his dad.

01:55:34 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 4:

And Kelly, your daughter, has recently had a baby.

01:55:36 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 1:

She has, yeah. Sydney.

01:55:39 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 4:

How is Kelly and Sydney doing?

01:55:41 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, just so, so great, so great. She won't let a picture go out of him. Oh, really? No, and I'm so proud of her.

01:55:48 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay, but you showed me some pictures earlier.

01:55:53 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 3:

So she didn't want a picture going out. She didn't want any information going out. She didn't want any news shared. So just hours after that, which you just heard, Kelly seemingly shaded her mom for talking about her newborn baby, telling her Instagram followers she's not ready to share her baby with the world. She wrote on her Instagram story, it's no one's place but mine to share any information on my baby.

01:56:16 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 7:

That happens a lot. Yeah, it sure does.

01:56:18 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And lastly, a mom, speaking of moms, took to TikTok to share her nine-month-old's toy that told some disturbing jokes. According to mom, her baby received a toy phone from Walmart from her grandma for the holidays. They put batteries in it. The baby was playing with it. And all of a sudden, they hear something about a drive-by shooting from this toy.

01:56:38 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 2:

How many Catholic priests are required to screw a light bulb into its socket? Two. One, to do the screwing, and one, to hear the confession.

01:56:48 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 6:

What? What? A kid's toy. There's a baby on the box.

01:56:56 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 9:

let's see well Tom told his friend my brother has a job with 10,000 people under him his friend replied Wow he must be the CEO of a corporation Tom said no

01:57:11 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 6:

he cuts the grass in a cemetery okay kind of funny but still for a baby it It gets worse.

01:57:22 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 9:

You'll never guess what makes a clip-clop, clip-clop, bang, bang. Clip-clop, clip-clop, clip-clop noise. An Amish drive-by shooting.

01:57:35 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 6:

Sold at Walmart. Walmart, explain this. Lindsay Toys, explain this.

01:57:42 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Yeah, so she's calling for the toy, obviously, to be pulled from shelves at Walmart or wherever else. Wherever else it's sold. And I know there is an update, and she informed her followers that she had emailed the company. They did get back to her and said they had opened an investigation. And in the meantime, the toy phones are going to stop being sold. So there you go. I heard that story. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

Back to Mojo in the morning.

01:59:35 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the morning show. So, Spike, you were out yesterday. Was it a client call that you had?

01:59:39 - 01:59:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, a little potential advertisers went to visit them after work yesterday. What do you think? Do you think that they'll advertise with us? They're very nice people. I hope they will.

01:59:47 - 01:59:50 | Speaker 7:

Well, we advertise with us. We need money.

01:59:50 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we laid it all out to them. I mean, we give them the exposure no other platform can give them.

01:59:54 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 7:

Isn't it nice, by the way? I will say this. Salespeople are smart when they do bring us on these things because...

02:00:00 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 2:

We are, like, non-threatening. You know what I mean? Like, we'll go out. Well, hey, Schmell, how you doing? What's going on? And, oh, my God, I listen to you guys. That's great. But we'll steal their wallets just like the salespeople will steal their wallets.

02:00:11 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know, the salespeople are coming with numbers and spreadsheets. We're just there to smile and get the check. But it was fun because while they were giving me a tour of their office, I kind of got a topic out of it, too, because as they were taking me around, introduced me to a lot of their employees. some were listeners saying hi some were real excited um others didn't give a crap who i was which i always loved that too and uh there was one person and as we were walking away from the guy they said that's our creed and i said our creed they said you know creed from the office and it made me laugh because remember creed from the office like there's always that one person in every office nobody knows anything about their life what they do at the office even if they have a family like we know nothing about anything they do after they clock out and go home yeah and i was thinking man there's always one at every office like you they keep their private life completely private but sometimes you're not even sure what do they do in the office like i know they've sat at that same desk for years i'm not sure exactly what their job is we've had people that have been

02:01:14 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 2:

sitting in those a little like they'll be like in a cubicle and i have no idea right at all what

02:01:20 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 1:

they do like every few years we always pull a fast one on mojo and bring some people in the studio and say oh yeah who's this and like they've worked here nine years my favorite is when you see

02:01:29 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 2:

them when you're going to the bathroom and you're like hey how you doing what's going on and you're like finally i introduced myself to one of the people that was here and they were the guy it was a guy it was do you remember that guy that used to work here he was i think he was from uh um he might have been from ukraine but he was he was the guy that was like the business manager guy He was a real tall guy.

02:01:48 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 1:

If you say so.

02:01:50 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 2:

I don't know who he's at now. He actually had an office office, and I would walk by him all the time, and I'm going, wait a second. Should I know who this guy is? But he was the guy that would make sure people paid their bills, and he would do all the auditing, I think, or something like that.

02:02:05 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 1:

Mojo sent me on a street scam once where I walked into an office with a briefcase, just sat, found an empty cubicle, sat down, started chatting with people, see how long could I stay there before they realize I didn't work there. Because in a lot of these offices, people are too embarrassed to go up and say that they don't know you because they might have met you 10 times. Now I can't do that anymore. Security is a little different in these offices nowadays. But I thought this could be a great topic if anyone has any of those little strange coworkers that keep their private life completely private. You know nothing about them. Or is it strange? Maybe it's not strange. Maybe.

02:02:35 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 2:

Who's the person in your office that you have no idea anything about and it would or would not surprise you to find out that on the weekends they you know I don't know they go to swingers conventions or something like that

02:02:48 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 3:

I always go back to we had that guy yeah

02:02:52 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 2:

remember yeah there was a guy that was his wife do you guys know like half of what some of even the sales people do in their private time I don't like there's some sales people

02:03:05 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 1:

it's a little different now if you start following people on social media and you start to learn that way like oh they have kids

02:03:10 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they like to vacation here

02:03:12 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 2:

What's that one guy's name? Cole, right? Yeah So Cole's a really nice guy

02:03:17 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 3:

His wife's a model

02:03:18 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 2:

Which I didn't know until my kids

02:03:22 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 3:

Did a fashion show a couple of months ago And she was the one who walked them down the runway And then he came to me literally just a couple of weeks ago And said, your kids did this Did you know that that was my wife? And I had no idea That's a pretty cool thing

02:03:35 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 2:

Let me tell you something about Cole here I bump into him in the bathroom all the time And I actually said to him, I go, Cole, are you selling ads? Yeah, how's it going? And he said that, oh, I just got a new one just recently. I go, you know what? I want to help out Cole. He actually, I said to him, I go, here's my phone number. Text me. Body sculpting by Za in Shelby Township. Go visit the good people over there. I think her name is Aliza Bianchi. The reason why I throw this out there is Cole's trying to get them to buy more advertising. They bought some advertising during Christmas time. And honestly, I don't know Cole very well. He's married to a model. He's a good-looking guy, but she's got to be gorgeous, too. Yeah, they're a good-looking couple. Okay, so who is the creed?

02:04:21 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 1:

Who's the creed? There's someone you don't even know what they do, and you pass them every day at work. Rhonda was kind of the creed for a little bit here.

02:04:28 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 3:

I agree. I knew nothing about her.

02:04:30 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 2:

I've known Rhonda forever, and I've known her as a sports person because I would see her. She would always be at the games on the field. a lot of people here in the station had no idea that Rhonda does iHeartRadio sports for the company

02:04:43 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 3:

but I don't know anything about Rhonda personally if she's in a relationship I don't know any of that

02:04:48 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 1:

so if you don't know who the creed is if you don't know who the creed is in your office does that make you maybe Oh, my gosh. No, everyone knows you, Mike. You do 20 jobs in the office. They better know you.

02:05:05 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 3:

It's hard not to know, Mike, too. Yeah, because I'll tell you all about it.

02:05:09 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 2:

We didn't want to say it.

02:05:10 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Nick?

02:05:12 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 2:

Hey, so I was working on a construction site, and there was this older guy that nobody really knew, and he was doing cleanup. And we were in a job meeting one day, and somebody had asked which company he worked for. And he was there for literally four months, cleaning the job site up every single day. and he didn't work for anybody.

02:05:32 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 1:

You're kidding.

02:05:34 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 2:

He was just some guy showing up? Just some guy showing up, and we ended up talking to him. He just said he was bored. Oh, my gosh. And he had something to do. So that contractor got four months of free labor. You guys should hire the guy.

02:05:47 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 5:

You should have hired him, yeah.

02:05:49 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I don't know what happened with that, but yeah.

02:05:52 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 3:

That's weird, though, that he would just constantly show up. Didn't that happen in the office also?

02:05:58 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, we—

02:05:59 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Didn't they have some— No, The Office, the TV show. Or am I thinking of another show where a person just showed up every single day and wasn't even on the payroll? I would watch The Office on and off again. I was never like a religious office watcher. But I almost wonder if we should have people call us up and tell us who the creed is in their office, and then we call that person to find out more about them. We'll help you. Hi, we're calling from the senseless survey. we're gonna see a little bit about you guys um texter here says that uh too embarrassed to call because this person actually sits on the other side of the cubicle from me but the creed is on the other side i've worked in the same job for the last five years and i actually don't know what their name is how is it that you worked for somebody for five years and you don't know the

02:06:54 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 5:

person's name you know what it is i think there comes a point of no return where you should know their name and what they do and a little bit about them but you don't and so you can't you can't ask at that point because you look dumb look like yeah so it just goes on forever um mojo in the

02:07:11 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 3:

morning show uh which one am i picking up let me pick up line number one uh who's this hello i don't have a name on you i oh becky i'm sorry becky yes hi what's up hi you're thinking of the movie

02:07:30 - 02:07:36 | Speaker 1:

office space oh yeah that's right milton was it milton in the basement with his red stapler

02:07:36 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 4:

and his red stapler yes mumbling that he's gonna burn it down someday do you have anybody in your

02:07:44 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 3:

place of business that you have no idea anything about?

02:07:49 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, all of them. I don't talk to them. Really? I'm probably the jerk of the office. I just keep to myself.

02:07:57 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's not necessarily that the creeds are the jerks of the office. It's almost kind of like they just aren't real communicating. Our engineer

02:08:04 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

Mark is that way. He wants to keep life work and private life private. He doesn't like to mingle. He doesn't like to go out after work. He's just like, leave me alone, fly under the radar get the job done and go home but you know what's funny is if you catch mark on a talkative day you get amazing conversation with you for 10 years he wouldn't open up i didn't know much about him and then for the last 10 years i found out dude we should be hanging out we just

02:08:29 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 3:

drink crappy beer and watch red wings oh my god actually i truly think that if if i didn't work with mark our engineer and maybe this is the case with you becky i feel like i would be friends with them like i would have no you know no problem sitting around and hanging out because we kind of share the same likes and stuff and then when i found out that mark uh he raised his nephew i was like my heart such an awesome guy that's the other thing too is you don't know what people's problems are at home like you have people in the office that have struggles or you have people in the office that have extenuating circumstances in their family and they come in every single day

02:09:05 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 4:

yep we're the ones that keep to ourselves because work is our escape so we just go to work do our job and then we have to go home.

02:09:13 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 1:

It's a great point, yeah. But man, if you ask Mark, like, hey, you going to Happy Hour? Hey, you going to Jingle Ball? He's like, F no. I'm going home. We don't fraternize after 5 p.m. I would love to

02:09:23 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 3:

make Mark next year have to come up on stage and intro a band. Nobody knows this business more than that guy does. He should be introing whoever the artists are. Thanks for the call, Becky. Have a great one, okay?

02:09:37 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 4:

You guys too.

02:09:38 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

where are the roses thursday if you suspect that somebody that you're in a relationship with is cheating on you you can text cheater to us at 95500 and get on a future mojo in the morning show but you have to be willing if you do text cheater you have

02:10:00 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 2:

be willing to put your business out on the radio. So I want to make sure of that. We just don't do this as a little service having fun. We got a lot of stuff that, you know, we want our listeners to be able to hear. So you got to be able to be open about that. And that's the thing sometimes people don't understand is that people that want to go on War of the Roses put themselves out there in a big way because it ain't just the call that is interesting. It's the aftermath that gets very, very interesting after we do the War of the Roses. So text cheater to 95500 if you want to be on War of the Roses.

02:10:35 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 3:

What is this music?

02:10:36 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. It's kind of nice though, isn't it? It's a little jazzy kind of music.

02:10:39 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 3:

It's like a very elevator. Yeah.

02:10:40 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 2:

I mean, you know, it was fitting for, I guess, the beginning part where it was like, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't. All right. Let me get to the War of the Roses.

02:10:49 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:55 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 2:

Jenny, why do you think your husband is cheating on you?

02:10:59 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 4:

We haven't had sex in about almost six months now.

02:11:02 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

And that's unusual for you? Yeah. Why is that?

02:11:05 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 4:

Why haven't you? Well, actually, I'm pregnant with our first baby, and I haven't put on bed rest. So I can't really do much.

02:11:18 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 2:

Why is it that you now all of a sudden think that he's out cheating? What's the reasoning for that?

02:11:24 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 4:

You know, we had a really healthy sex life, and now he's just doing things that he didn't ever do. Like, he's going out until really late and not coming home.

02:11:38 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 2:

When you say going out until really late, like, how late is he going out until?

02:11:44 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 4:

Like, last week he came home at 3.30 in the morning. So, I don't know what he's doing between 1 and 3.30.

02:11:52 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 2:

What did you ask him?

02:11:55 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't know where he is

02:11:55 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 2:

Did you say where the hell are you? What's going on?

02:11:59 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he just said he was drunk And trying to sober up And needed to drive home Because he knew I couldn't come and get him

02:12:07 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 3:

But I mean He could call Uber I mean that's a pretty lame excuse

02:12:14 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 2:

It would be To me Devastating to know that a woman who's pregnant with their first baby is getting cheated on because the guy is just looking for sex, we're going to call up Jenny's husband, and we're going to ask him where he's going to send a dozen free roses. It's Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. Hang on the phone and don't say a word, okay?

02:12:38 - 02:12:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:12:50 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 1:

Hello?

02:13:00 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm looking for Sean, please.

02:13:03 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 1:

Yes, hey.

02:13:04 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Sean, my name's Nicole. I'm calling you from a new internet flow company called rosesboom.com. I'm calling with an offer for some free flowers if you can answer two quick survey questions for us.

02:13:14 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:13:15 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah?

02:13:17 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:13:18 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Hey, have you purchased flowers in the past six months, Sean?

02:13:22 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:13:23 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 3:

And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:13:28 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:13:29 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 3:

No. Okay, and that's it. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, like I said, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses, and here's the deal. These can be sent to anybody anywhere in the country, and I'm not going to ask you for credit card info or anything. I just need the name and the telephone number of who you want these flowers to go to.

02:13:49 - 02:13:49 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:13:50 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, so do you have somebody in mind that you might want to send some flowers to? Again, it's Red Roses, so. Yeah. Okay, I need a first and a last name from you.

02:14:01 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 1:

Melissa.

02:14:02 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 3:

Okay. What's the last name? Okay, and just so we know and have on record, we kind of track everything right now since we're a new company, what is her relationship to you?

02:14:16 - 02:14:17 | Unknown:

She's a friend.

02:14:18 - 02:14:27 | Speaker 3:

And before I get Melissa's telephone number, we can also include a message with the card, with the flowers. Did you want to include something like that?

02:14:30 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, is it, what is it?

02:14:34 - 02:14:45 | Speaker 3:

So, basically, she's going to get a text message saying that you are sending her flowers. It will include that message. And then she can go on our website and schedule her delivery time, like when she knows she's going to be home. Does that make sense?

02:14:45 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah. put um put some of those emoji like kiss faces on it just a couple of those okay and then i'm

02:14:53 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

in my signing your name or no name yeah yeah you can put my name at the end okay sean and real quick sean i do all

02:15:00 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 2:

have to let you know that this call is being recorded and that's for quality and training

02:15:03 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 3:

purposes are you okay with that uh yeah i guess so awesome sean i also need to come on the phone here and tell you that while we have been recording this call your wife jenny has heard every single word that you just said and heard you send flowers to another woman

02:15:21 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 1:

What this is, Sean, is Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses, and we got a phone

02:15:45 - 02:16:08 | Speaker 3:

call from Jenny because she was worried that you were cheating on her while she was pregnant with your baby and obviously she heard you send flowers to another woman and is that somebody that you are in a relationship with or are you are you

02:16:08 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 4:

relationship no not in a relationship with her

02:16:11 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 2:

so she's a friend but you're sending her a bouquet of red roses over your wife

02:16:17 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 3:

it's It's not any of your wife's business?

02:16:27 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 2:

You know how bad this looks? Sean?

02:16:32 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, it looks bad for Jenny for acting crazy.

02:16:36 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 2:

Wait, you can't put the blame on her. You're the one who sent the flowers to somebody else.

02:16:40 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 4:

Look, I don't need to talk to you about any of this s***.

02:16:45 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 3:

I think you're going to end up having to talk to Jenny about it. And I think that Jenny's fear was that you were cheating on her because she told us that she's been on bed rest and it's been a while since you guys have had sex.

02:17:02 - 02:17:02 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:17:04 - 02:17:06 | Speaker 4:

That's between Jenny and me.

02:17:08 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 2:

Is that the reason you're cheating? Is it because you guys aren't having sex? Or is there more to it?

02:17:15 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 4:

I never said I was cheating. You said that. You put those words in my mouth. I never said I was cheating. Man has needs, you know?

02:17:23 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, you just did.

02:17:28 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 3:

A man... She's... I'm surprised you hung on that long. Jenny, how are you?

02:17:38 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm pretty sh**ty.

02:17:41 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 3:

All right, hang on one second. We're going to talk to you some more, okay?

02:17:45 - 02:17:46 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:17:46 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 4:

Your home for the world-famous War of the Roses, it's Mojo in the Morning.

02:17:50 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning, when we come back here next, wait till you hear what we found out about that War of the Roses from this morning. This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:17:59 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 1:

The War of the Roses. The War of the Roses is my favorite.

02:18:03 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:07 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. A lot of comments. A lot of people want to talk. And coming up here in just a little bit There is a Possibility That Jenny knows who Melissa is so we're trying To find out for sure If it's the person who she Thinks the person that Her husband sent the Flowers to Bianca what's going on it's Mojo In the morning show

02:18:38 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Good morning yeah I was just listening And I heard him say men have needs and that just absolutely blew me up yeah oh when he said that same here hold on let me play

02:18:50 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 3:

it for you hold on man has needs you know yeah for like for almost two years now and there's

02:18:58 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 1:

been times where like i don't i'm not in the moon like my my drive has been very very low because of um the condition i have that causes the infertility and if that ever happened to me he'd be gone. Like there's other ways to take care of your needs other than cheating on your pregnant wife at that point.

02:19:20 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. There there's many things that, and we've learned this with conversation that we even had yesterday, that a guy should never say to a woman, but there are more things that a guy should never say to a pregnant woman who's carrying their baby and not a very bright guy. Are you doing okay though? Are you everything okay? your life?

02:19:43 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 1:

Yep, yeah. So far, everything's going good. We're starting to get on track with everything. But, yeah, no, that just, it made me mad. If my husband ever did that, that'd be game over.

02:19:56 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Thank you so much for the call. Appreciate it.

02:20:00 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 5:

Beth, Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

02:20:03 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I just wanted to tell her that she needed to run as soon as possible because when I was six months pregnant, my ex went on a cruise with his ex-girlfriend because they had planned it a year in advance. And so he still left. And about a year and a half after I had her, I was just done with it because it's just never been.

02:20:27 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 5:

Wait. Hold on. How did that work? It sounded like it wasn't secret. He did it and you knew?

02:20:33 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 2:

No, I knew about it, but I accepted it because they had already planned it. They would lose out on the money and stuff. And I was trying to trust him, hoping that it would work out.

02:20:46 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So how did you find out that stuff went down on that cruise?

02:20:50 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

02:20:50 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm just... Text messages. Okay.

02:20:53 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 5:

What were the text messages?

02:20:54 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 2:

um stuff about um um backdoor entrances oh oh my lord oh they were adventurous um

02:21:05 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 5:

beth i hope you're in a better place too i hope that you you're not with this guy

02:21:10 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 2:

i'm happily married for five years and is your husband parenting that child

02:21:18 - 02:21:18 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:21:19 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Is that other guy part of that child's life?

02:21:23 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 2:

Somewhat.

02:21:24 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 5:

What a douche, man.

02:21:25 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 2:

But so much better off, yeah.

02:21:27 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for calling. I'm sorry that you went through that, but it's amazing. And I wonder sometimes, you know, it's like how, you know, I was trusting and stuff, but I wonder if the pregnancy had anything to do with her being more trusting. What's going on, Emily? It's Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. just a few moments ago you heard a pregnant woman find out that her husband is cheating what'd you

02:21:49 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 4:

want to say hi good morning i love you guys i'm super nervous and sorry we love you too oh that's so cool um yeah basically i was um pregnant and i found out that he had been cheating on me the whole time afterward um this is our first child after i had had a miscarriage before oh my gosh and how did you find out um basically just a bunch of text messages and like thinking back on the relationship it was just totally sketchy but I completely overlooked everything because you know my mind wasn't completely there I was really really sick I ended up losing about 50 pounds and I became jaundiced and then you know I had to be induced early to save myself and the baby which we're both fine now thank goodness um but yeah so i ended up being really sick and then i just kind of really wanted him to help me out because i couldn't do everything on my own and he just was not willing to do anything and um then i just you know found out by actions he didn't care and found out later that he'd been cheating on me the whole pregnancy so So it was really unfortunate, but now I'm doing better than ever. Me and my son are amazing, and it's just through a lot of, like, self-care and love that we're doing amazing. Good, good.

02:23:19 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 5:

What advice do you want to give, Jenny?

02:23:22 - 02:23:27 | Speaker 4:

I actually missed the first part of The War of the Roses, which I'm bummed about.

02:23:28 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can hear it on podcasts, yeah.

02:23:29 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 4:

um basically if a man is showing you by his actions that he's not you know willing to commit you to one person to the relationship you know that he isn't willing to stick around if if he is having needs like he yeah you know so poetically put it um then he's not gonna stick out for anything tougher in the future that may happen because you know relationships are tough that's

02:23:59 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 5:

a great point i mean if i mean first off if during the hat one of the happiest moments of your life if not the happiest moment you can't be faithful to your spouse he's not going to be faithful when they're not going through pregnancy i uh i appreciate your call and i'm happy to hear that you're doing well thank you so much love you guys i love you too uh voices guys uh they gave you the alias kelly hi kelly hi hi your voice disguise now so you can feel good about talking

02:24:30 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 1:

to us what'd you want to say okay so i was the girl who was so the girlfriend was pregnant and the guy was cheating on me on her with me for three months and so i found out that she was

02:24:44 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 5:

pregnant he had a girlfriend at all okay so you're talking about your situation no so

02:24:51 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

but i'm not the girlfriend the girlfriend was pregnant i didn't know he had a girlfriend at all when i was oh wait you're the girl that cheated

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 3:

With the guy whose wife was pregnant.

02:25:05 - 02:25:05 | Unknown:

Yes, yes.

02:25:06 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Wait, how long did it take for you to figure out that this guy who you're, I'm assuming you guys were having sex with, right?

02:25:13 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yes.

02:25:14 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 3:

How long did it take for you to find out that this guy was in a relationship with a woman who was carrying his baby?

02:25:21 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 1:

Three months.

02:25:22 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 3:

What was it that gave it away?

02:25:25 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was at the, with my son, actually, and I saw him with her.

02:25:30 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. And, like, out and about?

02:25:33 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And did you do anything? No, because I'm not going to, like, make her, like, because she's pregnant. Like, I don't want her being stressed out or anything like that. And I don't think she, like, knew. Because, like, they were just, like, out and happy and about. I'm like, oh, my gosh. Like, my whole, like, I didn't say anything to her because it's not my place. I mean, I don't want to stress her out with her being pregnant.

02:25:56 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 3:

so did it ever get revealed that you were uh the other woman no so this woman now

02:26:04 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 1:

is with him still i don't know wow yeah i have i don't talk to him when you when you cut it off

02:26:12 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 3:

with him did you say you lying cheating you know yeah yeah yeah i you know i i got a lot of respect for you because most people want the vindictiveness of of like bringing the whole thing down and now your beef's really with him you're in you didn't want to do it because you wanted to protect her health but i but i then start thinking to myself he's probably got another girl and he's probably still cheating you know he never he she doesn't know probably but like i mean like

02:26:45 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 1:

So the health of a baby in her, I didn't say anything.

02:26:47 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Wow. These calls have been unbelievable. Yeah. Yeah, they've been amazing. By the way, the Melissa that we think or that Jenny thinks is the girl, she said to our producer that she can almost confirm it is. So it's somebody that Jenny knows. So if you missed the War of the Roses, you can always go back and listen on podcasts and stuff. but we have it for you and you can listen to the whole show but they haven't really had relations they haven't been baking cookies because she's been on bed rest she's pregnant he sent flowers to a girl named Melissa and now we just find out that she knows who this girl is so it's somebody that she knows

02:27:35 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 2:

he's the biggest narcissist in the whole entire world just going to make your blood boil when you listen to him

02:27:40 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 3:

it was Honestly, were you as surprised, guys, as I was that he stayed on the phone as long as he did?

02:27:46 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Yes, but I feel like that's part of being a narcissist is he was trying to shift blame. And, you know, I mean, some of the stuff he said, I'm still shaking my head.

02:27:58 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. If you think that your relationship is cheating on you, you can text cheater to 95500. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. We'll get a look at what's trending right now here in the Dirty on the 30s. Shannon, what you got for us?

02:28:14 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to start with some local breaking dirty to the Detroit area, to Grand Rapids as well, actually, to Michigan. Senator Debbie Stabenow just announced she will not run for re-election. So when her current term ends in January of 2025, she's got a little ways to go. She will not seek re-election. And essentially, she said, inspired by a new generation of leaders, I have decided to pass the torch in the U.S. Senate.

02:28:39 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 3:

That might be a good thing for you, Spike. Have you thought about that? Oh, no, thank you. Being a senator?

02:28:43 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 2:

No, thank you.

02:28:44 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Senator Spike?

02:28:46 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 2:

No, thank you. Could you imagine all the dirt they could pull up? Actually, they just get audio. I always think about that. There's no chance.

02:28:53 - 02:29:02 | Speaker 3:

They would have the best opposing commercials because they grab audio from the show of things that were said. This person said this on the radio.

02:29:02 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Right. In his upcoming book, Spare, Prince Harry making a whole bunch of bombshell accusations. But one of them in particular is one that everybody's talking about this morning. And that's Harry saying he was physically attacked by his own brother, Prince William. Spare drops on Tuesday. By the way, if you've been waiting for it. And in it, Harry tells the story in detail of a particularly bad fight between the brothers as their relationship started to get strained after he married Meghan Markle in 2018. And he said it happened in Nottingham Cottage, or not cot, as the boys refer to it. And he said, William called Meghan, allegedly called Meghan, difficult, abrasive, and rude. And Harry said that his brother then grabbed him by the collar, broke his necklace in the process before he, quote-unquote, knocked me to the floor. He fell onto and broke a dog bowl, causing visible injury to his back.

02:30:00 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 4:

And Harry goes on to say that before he left, William said, don't tell Meg about what happened, which led him to call his therapist and tell his therapist instead. He did eventually tell Megan, and he said she wasn't angry. She was just sad.

02:30:13 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 3:

He said, don't tell the Megans. He said, don't tell my Megan or Megan from Mojo in the Morning.

02:30:18 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I have a feeling that those two guys fight like I fight with my brothers, where we slap each other like girls.

02:30:25 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 4:

like we don't feel like we were treated very differently growing up yeah you do that thing

02:30:32 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 2:

where you put your finger right by him going i'm not touching you i'm not touching you

02:30:35 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 4:

an update on buffalo bill's safety demar hamlin's recovery just two days after he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest he remains at uc medical center in the icu but his rep says everyone

02:30:48 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 2:

remains optimistic this is the news that we will share today is um we've got some some positive steps in the right direction so still has a long ways to go but in terms of what the doctors want to see um it's positive to be honest that's all i got that just that in terms of what they were looking for and hoping to see overnight they got they got that they got what they needed yeah he

02:31:08 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 4:

said he was unable to go into further detail excuse me on demar's status at the request of his family not to provide specifics on his condition green bay packers quarterback aaron rogers talking about what happened to demar during his weekly appearance on the pat mcafee show

02:31:22 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 1:

yesterday but at the end of the day you don't think these type of things are going to happen and when it does happen everything gets thrown out a rivalry uh distaste for a certain team whatever it might be that might separate you a little bit that's all gone when it's one of your guys and i and i you know the three you on the show obviously you've all played and i think we all feel the same way whether you you know you're currently playing or or or done playing like you're shook about this because you just never thought you would see something like us.

02:31:54 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 5:

I will tell you this. I don't know how these guys get back on the field. Anybody, you know, your first time back on the field, you're going to be freaked out over that whole thing, even though it was a freak situation, and they say that it's very rare that it could have happened.

02:32:06 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 4:

I mean, that's... It happened, and a lot of people saw it happen, yeah. Ellie Goulding is finally denying the long-standing rumor that she cheated on Ed Sheeran with Niall Horan. One fan on Twitter wrote...

02:32:18 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 5:

Did they date each other?

02:32:19 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 4:

So this is part of the controversy. So this person tweeted, random fan again, tweeted, can't believe you cheated on Ed with Niall, but slay. To which Ellie responded, false, but also slay. Now, this rumor goes back nine years when Ellie Goulding was spotted holding hands with Ed Sheeran in the audience of the 2013 MTV VMAs. Just a week after the tabloids in the UK were claiming she was packing on the PDA with Niall. Well, at the time, Ellie insisted in every interview she did about this that she and Ed were just friends. But Ed told a very different story. All of the interviews he was doing, he would say, I mean, normal people don't hold hands. Like, yes, we were dating. It was what it was, but now it isn't. You know, he insinuated that they had broken up. She still will not admit that they dated. In 2015, I know she did a profile for Elle in the UK, and she maintains that she and Ed Sheeran were never an item and so that means there could never be any cheating.

02:33:18 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 3:

And this whole song, he still will never publicly admit who he wrote it about, but it fits so perfectly. Talking about how they were both in the same hotel at the VMAs. She walked down, they had some fun, they kept joining each other on tour when they were both on separate tours. They would meet up with each other. And then he said when the one time he walked in the hotel went to surprise her and she was in the room with the other guy which everybody just assumes is Niall.

02:33:47 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, real quick, it was a surprise. Ashley Olsen is married, little Michelle Tanner. She married a guy named Louis Eisner. He's an artist and the son of a famous jewelry designer. They got married in a private ceremony in front of about 50 people right after Christmas at their home in Bel Air. How old is she? In her 30s.

02:34:06 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 2:

I think she's like 36 because I think she and my brother They're the same age.

02:34:10 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 4:

36, you're right.

02:34:11 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 5:

That makes you feel old, doesn't it? Man.

02:34:13 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's dirty, check out the dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:34:16 - 02:34:17 | Unknown:

Good morning.

02:34:17 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning's dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

02:34:22 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 5:

This is a funny story. It's Mojo in the morning show. So Megan went out for dinner with an older gentleman last night. You did. I did.

02:34:34 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 4:

Was it Steve Gabara? No. No, but I am going out with him next week. Are you? But he's not an older gentleman.

02:34:45 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 5:

You treat your clients well.

02:34:47 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

The older part or the gentleman part? Which one are you referring to? Oh, the gentleman part. Oh, he hates me. I know I'm going to get a text later about that. Let me see. But I...

02:35:00 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 2:

think that i actually have made too many jokes about uh dating older men and i think that i've sold this a little bit too hard so for all of the older men uh sorry i apologize and this has to do with where i went last night because i went um to a very like fancy dinner i was very excited we got dressed up to go out uh my dad and i went out to dinner just the two of us and i ran into um a couple of people one of them was like a a client like a woman who owns a business in town here who i know not super well but she gave me the up down when we came in like who are you here with and i realized like i couldn't tell people oh no no no i'm not on a date this is my dad and so our server would come over and be like what are we celebrating tonight you guys and i'm like um family relationships because it's my dad anytime I could drop like hey dad I would but we just were stared at from everybody from the bartenders to people sitting at their tables to the host that's funny everybody was giving us the up down because we were dressed so nice I was like he's not my date he's not my date

02:36:11 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 4:

he's not my dad you know what's funny about that is your dad looks so much younger yes since he's lost uh weight he does and and i maintain he's hot you have to call us up and tell us if that happens to you like if you go out like with and i bet you this is probably happened with you and your brother too

02:36:34 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 2:

oh yeah so when my guys are on dates yeah my brother now thankfully has a great lady in his life but before when we would hang out well i mean i guess even now when we hang out we if somebody would think or say something we'd be like so what's dad doing tonight should we call dad have you spoken to aunt so-and-so lately i don't know uh have you cleared out all of our childhood possessions from dad's basement yet we would make it so obvious that we are not on a date not on a

02:37:04 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 4:

date yeah that's funny 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is a telephone number can i tell you a weird thing though i one time walked up to a table where i recognized the girl that was at the table because she was a friend of chelsea's and i walked up to like say hi and she introduces me to the guy that she's with they're sitting on the same side of the booth and it was her brother oh same side booth sitters whether you can't same side booth with your brother you can't do it with anybody and they weren't they weren't waiting for somebody to come even to the table to like be there with them like they weren't doing it just because they were trying to look comfortable and stuff like that they actually were sitting on the same side booth was it a noisy restaurant it was uh yes it

02:37:57 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 3:

God, sometimes that's half the reason I do it. Can I tell you where it was? I can't hear.

02:38:00 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 4:

No. It was at Ocean Prime.

02:38:02 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 3:

You hear better next to each other than facing each other? Yes, yes, yes.

02:38:05 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 4:

And it was a brother, sister, and they were eating at Ocean Prime in that bar area on the same side of the booth.

02:38:11 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 2:

Was it so you guys could whisper in each other's ears because you're weird because you're eating a meal and shouldn't be flirting?

02:38:16 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 4:

I would never same-side booth with Aunt Pat.

02:38:20 - 02:38:25 | Speaker 3:

See, I don't think relative, but I think a couple's okay. I do too, man. Yeah, a couple's fine.

02:38:25 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 2:

No, it's weird. This is a hill, I swear to God, I will die on. If you are a same-side booth sitter, you are the weirdest people on the planet.

02:38:33 - 02:38:34 | Speaker 3:

No, it's situational.

02:38:35 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 2:

Why?

02:38:36 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 3:

Because if you're in a place where one person's staring at the wall and the other person gets to see the rest of the room, I would love to see the rest of the room, too.

02:38:43 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 2:

Why are you distracted by the rest of the room instead of the person that you're supposed to be having a conversation and a meal with? You can talk better. You can hold hands.

02:38:50 - 02:38:52 | Speaker 3:

There's all sorts of different... Lots of perks.

02:38:52 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 2:

Why are you holding hands during a meal? Because you like that perk. I know this. You can actually like other people. I love other people. I love lots of people. I do not need to hold your hand while we're having a meal.

02:39:06 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm on your side, Megan. Megan, I bet you she feeds.

02:39:08 - 02:39:09 | Speaker 2:

You mean you're not on her side.

02:39:09 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 4:

No, I am on her side. Oh, I got you. I bet you that Shannon feeds her boyfriend.

02:39:18 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 2:

I have never fed my boyfriend. Do you make this noise when you're eating? Airplane's coming.

02:39:24 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 1:

No, I think it's sweet I think it's sweet

02:39:27 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 4:

Listener Megan, what's going on? You want to comment?

02:39:30 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 1:

Hi, yeah I just wanted to let Megan know That you're not the only one I would always go out with my dad To karaoke and stuff And I wouldn't get hit on or anything And I found out later that people thought He was my boyfriend or my sugar dad And I just have to always come out Straight out the gate No, he's my dad We're just hanging out

02:39:51 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 4:

Be careful calling him dad though

02:39:53 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 1:

because people will think you guys are just kinky right that was the other thing then i was like am

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

i pushing this dad thing so much

02:40:00 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 6:

to the servers here that they think that this is like us yeah call him daddy yeah what's up aaron hi um so my dad is younger i'm 33 and he's like 55 but he looks really young um and so even when i was a teenager like we would go out to dinner and they're like oh um but just recently we were out to breakfast and um one of his neighbors saw us and my dad waved and think anything of it And I got up to the restroom And the whole table was staring at me And I came back and sat down I'm like, Dad, I think they think You're cheating on your wife with me This is my daughter

02:40:43 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome What's up? How you doing, Bill? Yeah, how you guys doing today?

02:40:50 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I know you He can sit wherever he wants with Megan

02:40:53 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so my situation was I took my niece out to a really nice place for her birthday. And, you know, people looked at me, giving me the side eye and the up-down kind of deal. You know, it was like, yeah, you're all with this younger lady and da-da-da-da-da. And she totally fed off into it. You know, she starts with the daddy thing and that whole, and I was like, you know, you really got to stop that, right? You're going to give me a rest.

02:41:21 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 5:

It's that voice Holy cow, man You can say anything I know, I can't

02:41:26 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 3:

I know

02:41:26 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 7:

Sometimes I actually Don't listen to what you say It's just like How your voice sounds

02:41:30 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 3:

What's the Disney Animated movie With the Ha ha ha Where the guy laughs He kind of chuckles Like he just did Just a second ago

02:41:37 - 02:41:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah Well, the one I usually get Is your mean one Mr. Grinch

02:41:42 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on, Leah?

02:41:46 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 8:

Hey So, this Occasionally happens To me and my twin brother You know, it used to happen a lot Way back when malls were still a thing One time we were shopping at the mall And he wanted to get new cologne So he was like, come on, let's go into Macy's So I was like, okay And he got this new cologne And I walked by And the lady looked at us and goes Oh, enjoy it on him And I was just mortified

02:42:12 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 5:

Yuck

02:42:13 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 3:

Hey, would you sit on the same side of the booth With your brother?

02:42:18 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 8:

Of course not

02:42:18 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 3:

No, that's horrible How about sitting on the same side of the booth with your boyfriend? Would you do that?

02:42:24 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 8:

No, I would never.

02:42:26 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:42:27 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 7:

That is the correct answer.

02:42:29 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 2:

It's not like you're sitting on their lap.

02:42:31 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 7:

I'm right.

02:42:32 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 2:

But you're shoulder to shoulder. You can't even look at each other to talk. You're too close.

02:42:36 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 7:

You just turn. That's even more awkward. So now you're just sitting knee to knee? No.

02:42:41 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 3:

Julie, what did you want to say about same side of the booth, sitters?

02:42:44 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so I'm server. And comment on if you're sitting with your dad. we don't care we don't care what age you are we don't care if you got a sugar daddy whatever but if you're sitting on the same side of the booth oh my god we are all secretly judging

02:42:59 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 4:

putting the ass in harassment it's another mojo in the morning phone scam i love listening to the phone scam in minutes spike he's not looking over your shoulder to annoy you he's just making

02:43:14 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 3:

sure you're doing your job right i work with a bunch of slow people this is mojo in the morning All right, it's time now for a phone scam. Sandy has been trying to switch the life insurance plan that she has through her work. Her co-workers say that she has been really frustrated because it's been like a really complicated process. Spike is going to make it even more complicated with this phone scam this morning.

02:43:39 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. Your home of the world's famous phone scams.

02:43:45 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

02:43:46 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes, hello. I'm looking for Sandy, please.

02:43:49 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 5:

This is Sandy.

02:43:50 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Sandy. This is Ty Lannister, manager of the insurance. I'm Scott's supervisor. You've been speaking with him? Yeah. What's your name? Ty Lannister. I'm the manager. I go over every policy before we draft the final version for you to sign. If you just have a minute or two, like to review everything? Yeah. Great. Well, your rider looks pretty simple. I just have a few questions to button this up. Are you an hourly employee at W**** or are you salaried? I'm full-time there. Are these things going to cost me extra money? Most of them would. That's why we don't put them in the coverage. You can get them above and beyond. So, for instance, the first on the list would be wildfires, supplemental coverage. So if your injury or death were from a wildfire. No, no. Okay, so you understand that wouldn't be covered in your normal coverage. I understand, yeah. You'd waive that, okay. Do you want terrorists?

02:45:00 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 3:

Terrorism coverage. It states you get paid if your death or injury is due to an act of terror. Terrorism? Yeah, it wouldn't be covered under normal circumstances.

02:45:07 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:45:08 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 3:

How about rampant obesity?

02:45:12 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 5:

Who's obesity? Me?

02:45:14 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah. It's just if your death were due to extreme obesity, I think because the normal policy they state you would, obviously, that'd be something self-inflicted.

02:45:23 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm very flounder. I have no worries about becoming an obese person. No. No coverage there.

02:45:29 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay, just asking. Food-borne illness, would you want that policy? What, born illness? Food-borne illness. People die of food poisoning? Oh, yes, ma'am. It is the 73rd most common cause of death in this country, but a lot of people...

02:45:43 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't want food poisoning coverage. No, thank you.

02:45:47 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 3:

Do you want the rider for traumatic brain injury associated with sports?

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 5:

No. I'm an older woman. I don't participate in sports, so I don't need that.

02:45:57 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 3:

How about global warming?

02:45:59 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm not paying insurance for global warming.

02:46:02 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay. What about gingivitis?

02:46:05 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 5:

You mean like gum disease?

02:46:07 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

If you died from gingivitis.

02:46:09 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 5:

You guys are just trying to get money off of people. Who dies of gingivitis?

02:46:13 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Just a few more. Botched plastic surgery. This covers any cosmetic enhancements that you have done. No, no. No plastic surgery. Death by prison gangs?

02:46:24 - 02:46:26 | Speaker 5:

Prison gangs? I've got to be kidding. No.

02:46:26 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 3:

What about lack of health insurance?

02:46:30 - 02:46:31 | Speaker 5:

Lack of what?

02:46:31 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 3:

If you died, if your death or injury were a cause of lack of health insurance.

02:46:36 - 02:46:39 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that what I'm getting here? I'm getting insurance?

02:46:39 - 02:46:47 | Speaker 3:

Right. Okay, we'll pass that one. Gerrymandering? What? Do you want supplemental coverage for gerrymandering?

02:46:47 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 5:

What is that?

02:46:49 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm not authorized to give legal or medical advice. I just have to get a yes or no, basically. No.

02:46:54 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 5:

Whatever it is. If I don't know what it is, no.

02:46:57 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 3:

All right, just a few last ones then. Orbiting space pollution? Repeat that again. Orbiting space pollution. Do you want additional coverage if you're struck by a falling satellite or any space junk? No. You know, it's not a mathematical impossibility, but we can't include it in our general policy.

02:47:12 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 5:

What are the chances of that? Like one in eight zillion?

02:47:16 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 3:

I don't have the numbers for this year yet. They haven't come in. What about sexism in the media and entertainment world?

02:47:23 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 5:

What does that have to do with me?

02:47:24 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 3:

I'm just running through all of them.

02:47:26 - 02:47:29 | Speaker 5:

No, you're not getting any money out of me for that one either.

02:47:30 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 3:

Surly or rambunctious teenagers? No. Inability to get into desirable nightclubs?

02:47:36 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 5:

How many more are there?

02:47:38 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 3:

Just one. What about phone scams if you die of hilarity or embarrassment due to being phone scammed by the Mojo on the morning show?

02:47:47 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 5:

I should have f***ing known.

02:47:48 - 02:48:00 | Speaker 3:

just a phone scam obviously we're not really from your insurance company well i'm glad but let me just tell you you should reconsider that orbiting space junk if you if a satellite falls

02:48:00 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 4:

we will we will scam you you're home with the phone scams this is mojo in the morning WKQI Detroit WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo Three great stations One stupid show This is Mojo in the Morning Live

02:48:42 - 02:49:11 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning show good to uh get a chance to go to the bathroom i haven't done that in a while um every time i go i end up running into a salesperson and starts talking to them non-stop and then I'm like, oh, crap, I've got to get back.

02:49:11 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 1:

You came back with a little glass of champagne.

02:49:13 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:49:14 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 1:

What was that?

02:49:14 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 2:

Well, they were doing some kind of cheers to a sale or something, but then I drank it, and it was the fake champagne. It was the juice that you would drink with your kids. Oh, like the white gray. It's hardly white gray, too.

02:49:29 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The Welch's.

02:49:31 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 2:

I think the last time that our boss, Colleen, got everybody cheersing and drinking, I think that it got a little out of hand. Nobody sold anything after that, so they were all said and done after that. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Mike got busted, and the people who busted him, or potentially busted him, are actually his wife's coworkers.

02:49:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so...

02:50:00 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 3:

And I don't know if they know yet or if they have checked the cameras yet, but we did a family gift this year from – well, Santa got us a family gift this year. What did you get? Oh, a TV. A TV. Ooh. Yes. That's a good gift. How big did you go? What time should we be over Sunday? 65 inches. 65 inches. Yeah, yeah. That's too big. That's gorgeous. Yeah, it was a nice size. What's it like watching a game on that? Oh, it's glorious. It was 40 inches before that, so it was a significant difference.

02:50:33 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 2:

By the way, do you find when you buy a family gift like this, and it's 65 inches, and you want to watch a game on it, that the kids want to watch a cartoon on the thing and you lose out?

02:50:44 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 3:

So far, it has been Minecraft only. Minecraft and YouTube videos, and then I've watched a fraction of – no, that's not true. I watched the Michigan game on it, so that was pretty nice.

02:50:55 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 2:

Because I was going to say, that sucks when you buy, I like, Allie calls it a family gift. Or unless you called it a family gift. Who called it the family gift? It was both. Okay, because I was going to say, because Allie knows if she doesn't call it a family gift, dad's not letting anybody use that thing. Nope. Nope, nope, nope, nope.

02:51:12 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 3:

And I almost tried to keep the 40 inches as bad. It's like one of those old, old, old, like when flat screens first started to come out. Like that's where it's, when it's from. And I was like, we should just keep this so you guys can play games on it. And you can watch all these other videos. and they're like no no no no that's going on the big one yeah uh but oh so we had that big box that it comes in and we had to get rid of it and i don't put it by the the dumpster i'd always just take it somewhere and i usually back at our old place there was an apartment complex around the corner so i would just go in there and drop off uh the any big boxes that i had in there but we don't live by that place anymore and so i'm like man what am i gonna do with this box and my wife's like well we have one at my work we have one of those big old dumpsters at my work and i said will they care and she's like i don't know we just throw boxes and they're just smaller boxes i'm sure it'll be fine so i drove up i know during vacation pulled up there was nobody there and i threw this giant box because the box is 10 times bigger than the actual tv is in their dumpster it's half hanging out there's little boxes already in there it's half hanging out and then i turn around, and as I turn around, there's a camera that points directly at that dumpster. And I know they busted me. As soon as they went in this week to go throw away boxes, there's no way. There's no way they didn't catch me doing that. That's funny. I don't know what I do. Should I just admit to doing it right now?

02:52:33 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, you just did. Your trash won't just take the big box? What's that? Your trash in your neighborhood won't just take the big box? I think they charge you for it.

02:52:43 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah, anything outside of the dumpster i think they know i'm like mike too i like that i gotta get it and actually i do this with smelly garbage like if i have we had something that is kind of smelly like uh fish or something i'll like bring it into work and i'll throw it in the back dumpster here at the radio station and i know you don't have that ability to do that mike because snx is in a big office building we're actually gonna be like that i did it there too when i was in town when i was back

02:53:09 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 3:

in detroit i had a uh what was the box oh i had a bunch of boxes from like our house that i had to throw away and my wife had had uh given me that chore and i brought it to detroit with me and

02:53:19 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 2:

here's the deal you have to call us up and tell us what's the the dumpster that you use to throw stuff in and then what we should do is we should pinpoint them on a map and we should all just go to these people's dumpsters i usually try to like go to a strip mall yeah and you go to a strip mall and there's usually a restaurant or something at the end of the strip mall, and they'll have dumpsters that are there. Because I noticed that Starbucks, they hide their dumpsters in a locked area.

02:53:46 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 1:

Because of all of us doing that. Yeah, I do the strip mall, too. It is illegal, by the way. It is? Yeah. Is it really? Yeah, it's a crime to use the dumpster. I've done it for, like, I had a metal table I couldn't get rid of. Nobody would take a donation. I don't know why, and it was too big for the trash. It fits in a dumpster And then of course it makes the loudest The metal table into a metal dumpster Empty dumpster It was like why don't I just set off an alarm And let everybody know what I'm doing

02:54:17 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 2:

And I also do it at night Like late at night Like when it's dark out And I feel like I'm going to get arrested And then the cops are going to find me And they're going to put a crime on me Because they'll find out that there's some guy Fornicating by the dumpsters And they'll be like Here I am just trying to throw away something

02:54:36 - 02:54:43 | Speaker 1:

What happens if they find a body back there Two days later And your license plate is the one that's on camera Visiting

02:54:43 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 3:

I had that moment too I turned around and I looked directly at it And I went Should I turn back around and grab it Because it was like one of those recycling dumpsters It wasn't like I threw it in With a bunch of trash But it wasn't my dumpster Thank you. Hey, Michelle, what's up?

02:55:01 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Mike, oh my gosh, do not be lazy. Cut this stupid box up and put it in recycling. Do not try to throw it in a dumpster.

02:55:11 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 3:

It's such a pain in the ass to break up the boxes.

02:55:15 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 4:

You're playing it for your children.

02:55:16 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God. By the way, do you ever watch that documentary on how BS it is now, the recycling is BS?

02:55:24 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 7:

That has messed with my brain so much.

02:55:27 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 3:

What is it?

02:55:27 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 7:

Because I sit there and rinse and put stuff only in the bin without the bag. And then I feel like they just mix it all up. It depends on the place.

02:55:35 - 02:55:45 | Speaker 1:

Some towns don't actually collect recyclables, and then they dump it all in the same thing when they get back. But you have to check on your town and find out if they actually do it or not.

02:55:45 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 3:

They're going to tell you the truth.

02:55:46 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 8:

To be fair, Michigan, because my dad works in recyclables, Michigan's one of the better places where it happens across the country.

02:55:52 - 02:56:01 | Speaker 3:

Well, I will tell you this, that the guys that take my recycling We'll take it and throw it right in the garbage They don't even do the dumpsters

02:56:01 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we have two separate trucks that come around

02:56:03 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 3:

We do normally, but sometimes They're running later, they're trying to Make up for time. Chris, what's up?

02:56:10 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, I had a A thing to say about the Garbage, taking the big boxes Yeah Whenever we get something nice, a big box Like a new T3, like Mike had We always had to take our garbage To the dumpster for safety purposes Because if we ever put anything out on our curb, that would let everyone know what you've got. Yeah, that's true.

02:56:31 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 3:

You don't want the thieves to think that, oh, guess what that guy's got for me to steal.

02:56:38 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 2:

So that was my first mindset. That was my first mindset, because I just came from a neighborhood that was just like that, was that I was worried that people were going to see that, and then if the box stays out and all of a sudden we get bad weather, then there's a big, wet box just hanging outside my house.

02:56:53 - 02:56:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, as soon as you started talking about taking the garbage to the dumpster i figured it was for that purpose but i'm just

02:56:59 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 3:

hood yeah yeah uh what's up casey yeah what's going on it's mojo in the morning so my in my

02:57:08 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 4:

old neighborhood we had a dumpster that we used to use for trash the property got sold and the new owners um had a resident record my seven-year-old take dump the trash to this dumpster And I got ticketed for it For illegally dumping That's what they called it

02:57:27 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 3:

What was the fee Or the fine

02:57:31 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 4:

It was $146 Wow

02:57:35 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing

02:57:36 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 4:

For my 7 year old They called it illegally dumping

02:57:42 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 3:

You should have let them just arrest your 7 year old They would have given you a break for a weekend What's up Joe

02:57:49 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 6:

Hey what's going on guys

02:57:51 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 3:

Nothing. What's going on with you?

02:57:53 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 6:

Oh, not too much. It's working. So I just had a comment on the recycling thing. So the recycle is the biggest scam there is in the trash business. It's just a way to make extra money. So a lot of times what trash companies do is they'll come, they'll have one trash truck do one sub for trash, and then they'll jump over to the next sub and they pick up recycle and they just mix it all together. Most of your recycle is going to a landfill anyway. So there's no, most places don't even really actually.

02:58:18 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 3:

And what area of town or city do you work in?

02:58:21 - 02:58:31 | Speaker 6:

or did you work in oh i've worked cartland uh benton holly area um you know yeah so it's in

02:58:31 - 02:58:43 | Speaker 1:

michigan and stuff that's what the documentary the one documentary was talking about how like they just have such pressure from the public to recycle that these communities all say they do it and they give you the bins and then they just throw it all in this it doesn't it all goes the

02:58:43 - 02:58:56 | Speaker 6:

same landfill oh yeah yep it all goes the same landfill most times they just do it because if You know, if they don't offer recycles, another company will do it, and they'll still trash it the same way as the other company would have done in the beginning.

02:58:56 - 02:59:01 | Speaker 3:

Want to go over to Mike's house and watch the Lions game this weekend on a 65-inch beautiful TV?

02:59:01 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 6:

Well, why don't you just come over to my house? We'll watch it on the 75. Mine's bigger than yours.

02:59:11 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you. We're comparing sizes. Thanks for the call. All right. Take care.

02:59:16 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 6:

You too. Bye. Bye.

02:59:17 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. I was trying to call EJ. EJ is our night guy. And I was trying to call him because I was on the phone with EJ yesterday. And something very strange happened. He walked into a Starbucks to go get himself something to drink. And I could hear the conversation between him and the barista at the Starbucks. the Starbucks barista after EJ ordered said bark like a dog and I'll give it to you for free really? yes and EJ was like I'm not barking You know how EJ talks? He's got his really high-pitched voice. I don't bark like a dog. Wait, really? And she goes, bark like a dog and I'll give it to you for free. And he goes, that's degrading. I'm not barking like a dog.

03:00:14 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I'd be barking all day.

03:00:16 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 3:

The woman was serious. She said that if he did that, he would get his, what, $5.99 or something like that? Yeah, exactly.

03:00:26 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 6:

You're getting a $6 drink for free?

03:00:29 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:00:29 - 03:00:36 | Speaker 6:

What do you want me to be, a poodle, a Great Dane, a Bernese Mountain Dog? I don't care. If you give it to me for free, I'll do it.

03:00:36 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 3:

He said, he gets on the phone. He goes, did you hear what she just said? And I said, yeah. I said, do you know her? And he goes, no. He goes, I'm not going to do that. And I go, EJ. And he goes, he actually says to her, he goes, don't you think I can afford to pay for that? I can afford to pay for that. I'm like, honestly, I don't care if you can afford to pay for it or not afford to pay for it. Start parking. What would you guys do? Would you be offended by that if the person that worked at whatever it was, Starbucks in this case, asked you to bark like a dog and they would give it to you for free?

03:01:09 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 6:

No, I wouldn't be offended. I'd be curious as to why, but I would do it. You know I would do it.

03:01:16 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 4:

She was just trying to have fun. I think she was just, yeah. I would negotiate for something more, for a cake pop.

03:01:21 - 03:01:22 | Speaker 5:

And a cake pop.

03:01:22 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 4:

And a cake pop.

03:01:23 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 5:

The pink ones. Since we're playing games here. Right.

03:01:26 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 3:

Try to see exactly what they're willing to offer. Hold on. I don't know if, let me see if I can, my phone, somebody messed up. Oh, there it goes. Okay. Somebody messed up my cord. Now it's not working. Oh, there it is. I'm calling EJ to see if I, night guys sleep in until like one o'clock in the.

03:01:49 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 6:

Did you get a new phone?

03:01:50 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 3:

I did. You like it? It's fancy. Do you see the camera? I like the cane. I ordered this sucker back in August because my phone, I had the 12 or 11 or something like that, whatever it was, and I got the new one, a 14-something. Hold on, let me see if he'll pick up on FaceTime. Sometimes people can, it's funny, when I try to call my son to wake him up in the morning because I'm too lazy to walk upstairs to get him up, I call him, FaceTime him. Call him, FaceTime him. Call him, FaceTime him. And he'll pick up the FaceTime because I think it rings differently on his phone.

03:02:32 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 5:

I won't answer when my kids call from upstairs. I make them come downstairs.

03:02:40 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 6:

Okay, wait. So would you guys bark, yes or no?

03:02:42 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 3:

I would.

03:02:43 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

03:02:43 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 3:

Because I would actually take it as a joke. Me too. I wouldn't be offended by that. Yeah. Reese, you would?

03:02:50 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 5:

I would make sure there's no cameras around first. Oh, I don't care. I'll do it for you and you alone if you're giving me a free drink. But if this is some kind of TikTok challenge, I'm not going to be forever barking on TikTok just for the price of a coffee.

03:03:02 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 4:

That's the only way I'm doing it. If it's going to go viral or it's going to be some sort of entertainment and you are paying me for it or giving me free stuff for it, absolutely, that's what I'm doing.

03:03:12 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 6:

I love this texter said, I'll become the whole damn animal kingdom. Megan, would you do it? Oh, for sure.

03:03:21 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What would you do for free stuff? Like if you were out at...

03:03:28 - 03:03:35 | Speaker 4:

The bar's low, guys. How many times do I have to talk about selling my underwear or feet pics? Like the bar is low.

03:03:36 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 5:

If they told me to howl for a beer, now you're talking.

03:03:38 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. I saw this on Instagram, and I don't know if it was clean or not, so it might not be. So get your dump button ready. I thought this was pretty funny. Listen to this, okay? Hold on. This is on.

03:03:49 - 03:03:50 | Speaker 1:

I have a question.

03:03:50 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 2:

I didn't bring the right debit card can you pay for mine you can't can you help

03:04:01 - 03:04:07 | Speaker 1:

me out it's the yeah the concrete you got me okay but I got to tell you

03:04:07 - 03:04:21 | Speaker 2:

something you're on TV right now congratulations hey I'm with what would you do my name is Alex Stein you just won $10,000 my friend no I'm dead It's serious. This is yours. Congratulations.

03:04:21 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for being greedy, I guess. Oh, no.

03:04:27 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Did he offer?

03:04:30 - 03:04:44 | Speaker 1:

He did ask me. I'm sorry. I'm just trying to talk to my co-worker right now. He's so fair. I don't really care. I would really prefer if I'm not in this, please. Yeah. I'm sorry.

03:04:44 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine?

03:04:46 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 4:

That's so annoying. If a dude aggressively came up to me like that, I would probably say no, too. I don't think he was aggressive. Yeah, I don't think he was aggressive. You don't think somebody's coming up to you, filming you in public, asking for money. No. No.

03:04:59 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 3:

No.

03:05:00 - 03:05:32 | Speaker 1:

she didn't know he was being that she was being filmed he walks up and just goes hey i didn't bring my wallet can you just pay for this she has no idea there's a hidden camera the other person says yeah i'll pay for you for the thing that's when the cameras all came out and said that you did it this is why you wear headphones all day and you just pretend like you can't hear people could you imagine that would actually be a great streets scam and just go do it and we'll just buy a bunch of ice creams for people and then the person that's right behind always gets like a big dollar amount we bring out the big jack spike we got to do this

03:05:32 - 03:05:39 | Speaker 3:

steal that idea that is a great idea we'll have we'll have like my poppers yeah we'll have like

03:05:39 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 1:

mike or reese or something like that'd be the ten thousand dollar winner and you gotta like fall to your knees just go absolutely crazy um all right it's mojo in the morning show top trending stories of the day so that mega millions now is just under wait if it's 940 million dollars what does it go to after like it gets up to that is it go to it's going to reach to a billion but yeah it will be so okay that's right i was trying to think of what that was

03:06:10 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 2:

you know what came after what's after 900 million it goes to a billion this is why you can't win

03:06:16 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 1:

the lottery because so the mega millions drawing uh is it no winner saturday it's friday tomorrow okay 900 i i when we talk about this all the time we give them all this thing but i think that you know it's interesting to see exactly uh how many times this thing is going to keep on rolling over and will one will they ever get one that could go over a billion dollars well they have

03:06:43 - 03:06:46 | Speaker 3:

They had that $1.6 billion or $1.7 billion.

03:06:46 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 1:

But I'm saying, could they go to $2 billion or something like that?

03:06:49 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I was scared. I didn't know what came after $1 billion.

03:06:52 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 1:

By the way, what's after billion? Honest to God, I was like, are you serious? Is trillion after billion? Yes.

03:06:57 - 03:07:08 | Speaker 2:

Are you serious? I feel like we could put in front of Mojo, here's a check for $1 billion, or here's a check for $600,000. And he'd be like, well, $600,000 is bigger than $1.

03:07:08 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 1:

did you guys hear the story about the couple that went on tiktok to show their scam that they have on how to get people not to sit next to them on a flight so this couple some people are shaming them and some people are actually thinking that they're genius um they will fly on southwest airlines and you know how they have that open seat policy meaning that there's no assigned seats they actually will just board you based on your group numbers well the couple posted a video that shows their hack on how to get on the flight and not have somebody sit next to you they take an aisle and a window seat until they find the right person that they want to be right next to them and what they'll do is they'll keep the bigger person next to the aisle so that people will be not as encouraged to take that middle seat and people say genius idea it's a great idea then you're sitting next to somebody that you know might be not as big you know and causing problems you know for you as far as you know leg room and and elbow room and stuff oh okay i was gonna say

03:08:17 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 3:

what are they looking for in the quote-unquote right person some people say it's childish and

03:08:21 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

it's actually shaming that they would do this i don't necessarily think it's a horrible thing but posting it on tiktok probably is what caused people to be so upset by the whole deal yeah i don't know i it's it's funny because i sit there and i look at that and i'll go uh all right you know do you really want to sit next to me like when people will say can i have that seat next to you i'm like you're brave enough to sit next to me i'll be nice enough to like hang over flight attendants hate me do they why well because i lean i fall into the aisle like You know what I mean? I like to sit in aisle seats, but I also fall into the aisle because I'm a bigger dude. But also my legs are bigger and stuff. And so they always get really upset with me for having my legs in the aisle. And all of a sudden I'm like, make this damn plane bigger. And I'll be okay. Mike, I got something for you that we're all going to go in on for your new baby that you're going to have. Okay. For little baby Mojo that you're going to be having. The little boy that you'll be naming Mojo. We'll workshop the name. We're going to all, everybody has to throw money in. We got to get up to $3,300 for the self-driving stroller. There is a self-guiding high-tech stroller that has hit the market, a Canadian startup company. Listen to this. It goes hands-free. The baby stroller, which uses artificial intelligence for navigation guidance. It's called the Ella Smart Stroller. It was unveiled at the CES Tech Exhibit in Las Vegas earlier this week. And they say this thing is kind of cool, and it takes the same...

03:10:00 - 03:10:19 | Speaker 3:

sensors as have you heard about the self-driving golf uh uh cart that goes around there's a golf cart that you can actually or place that you can put your bag um and it will follow the golfer to all the holes you wear something on your person and the that's pretty cool i would i i would be

03:10:19 - 03:10:24 | Speaker 4:

super nervous about the stroller agreed i want hands on all times golf cart is smart because

03:10:24 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 1:

you've seen how all those drunks on the course crash their golf cart but yeah stroller what you You know, geez, it's the most precious cargo on there.

03:10:32 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 3:

So this thing, they say, will also sing to your child, play Rockabye Baby and different songs. It will hold on an angle. Like if you are going up a hill and you stop, it will stop too. So it won't roll backwards.

03:10:48 - 03:10:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I would hope it would stop.

03:10:50 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know how your stroller, you have to actually push the.

03:10:52 - 03:10:54 | Speaker 4:

You have to lock the wheels.

03:10:54 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the wheels in.

03:10:55 - 03:11:02 | Speaker 2:

Everything about it except for like the self-driving or whatever that is. I think it is kind of cool, but the self-driving I don't think I would be

03:11:02 - 03:11:31 | Speaker 3:

comfortable with that. Knowing Megan after yesterday's show when she said that she would leave the kids up in the room and go down and have dinner, Megan would have it just go on walks by themselves. Yeah, for sure. You would be like, I was thinking about that yesterday. You were the only person that was kind of like, yeah, it's okay. Go down and have whatever. I'm thinking, Megan, I'm going to tell you something. I'm never allowing you when you have your baby to ever go out on a Friday night without Chelsea and I babysitting for you.

03:11:31 - 03:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Fantastic. Love that for all of us because you just guaranteed me a babysitter whenever I want it. You got it. All right. And he just guaranteed you a baby. There you go. Also, you have your baby. Yes. Also, did we not forget the one person on this show who has the motto of F them babies? That's true. Did you expect anything else from me? I know. And thirdly, who thought I would say this, but y'all are soft. I grew up by parents Who left us alone all the time And I'm fine Just like people who ate white bread And apparently paint chips So we're fine We're fine

03:12:03 - 03:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Trying to lose weight According to the diet experts They say turn down the music Researchers at the University of South Florida Found that having music play lower Actually makes you not eat as much And playing music in supermarkets or restaurants that are louder causes you to eat more. Do you ever see this? Like, the louder the music that is played, the more, if you're at a grocery store, you'll purchase greasy, unhealthy foods. It increased by more than 20%.

03:12:41 - 03:12:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm never paying attention to what's playing in the grocery store unless, truly, I'm at Kroger and I hear you. But, like, I don't, I don't, just because that, you know. How about in restaurants?

03:12:49 - 03:12:51 | Speaker 3:

When you go into restaurants and they're playing, like.

03:12:51 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 4:

I do notice music in restaurants because if it's a good playlist, I love it. If it's too loud and I can't talk, it's not like a fun night out or whatever. I kind of hate it.

03:13:00 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 1:

But yeah, they play certain things at certain levels for certain reasons. It gets you to buy more, spend more, drink more. Yeah.

03:13:08 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 3:

This is going to be titled Get Her Done. Procrastinating on doing something can actually be damaging to your health and even your finances. If you're somebody that keeps on putting off, you know, doing exercise or not sleeping or even cleaning things up, your procrastination actually is causing you to have more anxiety. I see this all the time with like, if I don't, you know, I want to clean my closet out. I want to clean, you know, my garage out. If I don't do that stuff and I just keep letting it go and letting it go, I just find myself kind of being on edge. And working from home may not be as good as commuting. Researchers found that traveling more than 15 miles from home regularly is better for your mental and physical well-being. That people who traveled more often actually had better outcomes when it came to feeling better about themselves.

03:14:08 - 03:14:17 | Speaker 1:

Amen. Was that study done by us to make sure people commute and listen to their radio longer? That's actually true. By the way, this is brought to you by iHeartRadio and the iHeartRadio app.

03:14:17 - 03:14:47 | Speaker 3:

They actually said that the findings of this found that even people's investments were made better, that they felt better about what they were doing with their lives. They actually enjoyed their jobs more. That's a surprise because I still hear more and more people that will say, I want to stay home. I want to be home all the time. And I want to do the work from home thing. And I know that's a huge deal. that our lives all kind of changed after we all stayed home during 2020.

03:14:48 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's costing me more money because my girlfriend's working from home today and she texts me. First, she wanted me to get a picture for this wall. It's a blank wall. We need something hanging there. So I ordered a photo and now she just...

03:15:00 - 03:15:19 | Speaker 4:

text me i think we need a hanging plant in this corner right next to the phone i said i think you working from home is going to make us buy more things and she said i have to procure things to make my space more inhabitable and conducive to my productivity and my personal app she talks like that and no she's being sarcastic oh okay but uh she's not denying so question for you yeah does

03:15:19 - 03:15:24 | Speaker 5:

she when she works from home like it when you come home early in your home or does she like

03:15:24 - 03:15:31 | Speaker 3:

you stay at work more you know a little bit longer uh i haven't asked her directly but based on her

03:15:31 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 5:

answer when i walk in she goes oh you're home already that's probably it that tells it right there um have a great day guys we'll see you on the more mojo podcast if you don't subscribe to our show's podcast it's mojo in the morning you got to check that out to hear the war of the roses from earlier today and our after show podcast is more mojo podcast including mike and megan and the Slightly Messy podcast on Wednesdays.
