00:02:24 - 00:02:25 | Unknown:

It's showtime!

00:02:50 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

it's mojo on the morning show i uh I have been wearing this new cologne recently, and I kind of get the feeling that my wife is not a fan of it. And usually I don't wear any kind of cologne that my wife doesn't get for me. And this time I actually picked this cologne because my friend's wife told me to get it. Whoa. And I know it sounds weird to say this, but it has nothing to do with why I don't think Chelsea likes it. I just don't think that it's Chelsea's thing. but we were out shopping with our friends Ryan and Samantha Lash and we were looking at a store and kind of doing the whole shopping thing and kind of like just killing time and I was looking for a cologne and Samantha had said something about this cologne and I smelled it and I'm like oh my god I love this thing and the guy you know how he sprays it and he puts it on like a little sheet and I just kept smelling that little piece of paper and stuff and I'm like oh this is really good and I'm like hey can I just So I tried a little on me and I tried a little on me and I'm kind of, I like it. This is good. And Chelsea was in like the other room at the time. And then I come into the other room and she goes, what's that? And I go, what do you mean? What's that? She goes, do you put cologne on? And I said, yeah. I said, what do you think of this? And she's like, oh, that's okay. And I'm like, oh, crap. Because I had told the guy I wanted to buy it. Oh, yeah. And I had already asked him and he was going to get it out of the back. Well, long story short, I bought it. Okay. And I've been wearing it, and I am obsessed with it. I love the smell. And what makes me love the smell a lot, people will say, wow, you smell good. Like yesterday, we were in a meeting with our boss, and we had all the... technical stuff we had a research thing that came through and colleen our boss goes wow you smell good and it kind of got me going oh that's cool you know megan and i have both said you don't like it no you smell good oh okay you like the smell well i don't get the feeling that my wife likes the smell and that's the only person that i really want to like the smell because i'm self-conscious that she doesn't like the smell yeah what is the smell again it's it's the no it is not mike it is a cologne, and it is made by Tom Ford. Is it Tuscan leather? You know what? Hold on. I got a picture of it. If it's Tuscan leather, let me smell that because I need to know how that smell. Drake Rapper bought it. It's a song. Nothing was the same first track.

00:05:47 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 4:

They say Harry Styles wears tobacco

00:05:48 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

vanilla. Hold on a second. Let me find this thing. Hold on. Hold on. I'm going to look it up in my picture of it somewhere. Everybody wants to know. I was literally just Googling it. There it is. But it's expensive. No, it is. No, no. It's Tom Ford, Fugurey Goo Goo Goo Goo. That smell like his thing. What does that say? How do you spell that? I hate Fugurey Goo Goo Goo Goo Stake. It's F-O-U-G-E with the little goofy thing over it. R-E and then a D apostrophe A-R-G-E-N-T. Fugurey Goo Goo Goo Goo. Oh, yeah.

00:06:26 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 2:

It's something like that. We went to howtopronounce.com.

00:06:29 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 3:

And I wear it, and I'm like, man, I haven't had this much good luck with a cologne since I wore Drakkar Noir when I was 20 years old. I remember that.

00:06:41 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 4:

Do you want to hear it? Yeah. How do you say it?

00:06:43 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you know what's crazy? What does it say? I think Drake also talked about that.

00:06:48 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 4:

Fagoo.

00:06:48 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

Fagoo. Fagoo. Fagoo. Fagoo. Fagoo to you? I mean, you were kind of close. It was something like that.

00:06:56 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 5:

I bought a new perfume recently, and I really, really, really, really liked it. And the legendary Tim Murphy, my father, was over the other day, and he goes, what perfume are you wearing? And I actually keep it, I keep this one on my kitchen counter just to like spritz myself before I leave. And so I showed him, I go, actually, it's this one right here. He goes, absolutely hate it. It's horrible.

00:07:18 - 00:07:20 | Unknown:

And I was like, wow.

00:07:20 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's your dad. Love the honesty.

00:07:22 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 5:

No, the best part was Wes goes, yeah, I don't really like it either.

00:07:26 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

I like you guys. I want to ask this question of our listeners. I want to know, does your spouse's smell not sit well with you? Who listening to this show has like a spouse that smells bad or they don't like their smell, they don't like their cologne, whatever that, you know, the story is. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. is our telephone number. I remember there was a phase. I went through a polo phase where I wore a polo cologne. My wife did not like that at all. Was it in the green bottle, too, with the gold polo guy? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I had that, too, I think. I think it was piney or something like that. She just wasn't a fan. Yeah, it smelled like the woods, sort of.

00:08:13 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, is that one really earthy, Mojo? Because that, fuck, I don't know if that tastes in it anymore. I lost it in my brain already. But it means fern in French.

00:08:22 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 3:

Really? I don't know, but I like it. It looks like it would smell good. I'm telling you, they fancy the bottles. Sarah, do you like the smell of your boyfriend?

00:08:33 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 1:

No. No. He's a mouth breather, and at night, his breath infiltrates the whole bedroom, and it stinks really bad.

00:08:41 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 5:

Wow, that's bad.

00:08:42 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 1:

Does he brush his teeth before bed? He does. I think he's got something dying in his guts or something. I don't know.

00:08:49 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 3:

Now, you know what you need to do? you need to spray some fagoo in his mouth, the Tom Ford, yeah, just throw it right in there.

00:08:56 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 1:

And then pour some whiskery down there.

00:08:58 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

Exactly, exactly. Donnie, what's up, Donnie?

00:09:02 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

00:09:04 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, what's going on? Good morning, Donnie. So I guess I'm a little bit opposite on this call because, well, when we're baking cookies, I just love the smell of my husband's armpits.

00:09:15 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

00:09:17 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

Donnie. I think it's like the pheromones, and it's like, oh, you're sweating, you're putting in work, it turns me on.

00:09:23 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 4:

I love that smell, too. What? Thank you. So much. I don't know what it is. And it's not even necessary. Like, it's a slightly sweaty smell, but it's like a smell. Question.

00:09:34 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Is the smell permeating the room, or are you in a certain position where you're close enough?

00:09:40 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Not like Sarah's husband's mouth, no.

00:09:44 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

No. So his armpits, though, you get close to him, and when you get close to him, maybe that's what you like the most, that you're close to him. That's what I like, yeah. Are you on top, or is he on top? Oh, jeez. I'm trying to envision the armpit smell and where you're at, where you're doing it.

00:10:00 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Don't answer that question.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 3:

You're cut off.

00:10:02 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 1:

He is. He's a dirty man.

00:10:03 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm just trying to ask questions. Mojo is dirty. I know. I'm trying to gain an understanding. Look, in all that getting, get an understanding.

00:10:09 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 1:

You're not taking my dirty from me. Do not take my dirty from me. Thanks, Donnie.

00:10:13 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 2:

You're not even dirty yet. You're welcome.

00:10:14 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, take care of yourself. I actually...

00:10:17 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 2:

Hello.

00:10:18 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 1:

Hi, honey. How are you?

00:10:21 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

What? What?

00:10:23 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm talking about my new cologne that I don't think that you like. I don't. Why do you not like it?

00:10:30 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 4:

I just don't like the way it smells. It's okay, though. You like it, and it's your body, your choice. Have fun.

00:10:37 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 1:

My body, my choice. Okay. But, Chelsea, do you understand, though, that I have people that will compliment me on how good I smell?

00:10:44 - 00:10:44 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:10:44 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

But you're the only one I want to like the way I smell.

00:10:48 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm sorry. I don't really care for it. But, again, that's okay. You like it. It's okay.

00:10:55 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 1:

What is it that you want me to smell like, then?

00:11:00 - 00:11:01 | Unknown:

I don't know.

00:11:01 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

Can you find me something? Can you go to the mall and find me something that smells? And I'll switch it up, even though I bought three bottles of this thing. I literally bought three bottles.

00:11:11 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no, no. You like it. You wear it.

00:11:15 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 1:

I know, but I want my wife to want to smell me, you know?

00:11:18 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I always... Even if it's something I liked, I wouldn't want to smell you.

00:11:22 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 3:

I always want to smell your wife. Your wife is the best smelling person on the planet. Every time she walks into a room, I'm like, oh, my God, Chelsea's here.

00:11:29 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 1:

Jesus.

00:11:30 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 3:

It's so good.

00:11:32 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 1:

What is it, Chelsea, that you're, is it your, I think it's your laundry detergent. The laundry detergent that you use is the best laundry detergent.

00:11:38 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think the first thing is to take a shower.

00:11:41 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:42 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 4:

Do that.

00:11:43 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:11:44 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I've been missing a step.

00:11:46 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember, Chelsea, do you remember when I first met you and I would wear Drakkar Noir?

00:11:51 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't. I don't. No? I mean, I'm sure I liked your smell. I'm sure.

00:11:55 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 1:

It was that, and then I think the one smell that can definitely get you laid any time at the time was Chaps or something. It was like a Chaps clone.

00:12:03 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 5:

No, it was Curved for Men by Liz Claiborne.

00:12:06 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

That was the one that was?

00:12:07 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 5:

That was what my high school boyfriend wore, and I thought it smelled so good.

00:12:10 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 1:

That was the panty dropper smell right there. I don't know if Chelsea can hear me. Did she have a favorite of your clone? Chelsea, Mike from Grand Rapids just asked a question here. He's a journalist.

00:12:21 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 4:

I can't hear him.

00:12:22 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 1:

I know because she's on my phone. He wants to know, do you have a smell that smells the best on me?

00:12:29 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 4:

I think it's called Absinthe.

00:12:32 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 1:

What is it? Absinthe.

00:12:34 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm just kidding. Oh, you're a dumb man.

00:12:39 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea's amazing.

00:12:41 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 3:

Can't you smell that?

00:12:42 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

All right. You know.

00:12:44 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

That's my thumb up on that one.

00:12:46 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 1:

00:13:19 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

man i'm just complaining about the heat shut up this is mojo in the morning

00:13:28 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 1:

kevin uh had a moment with his son josiah and uh and grandma which by the way kevin's grandma should have her own sitcom i love her so much they should do like the golden girls part two

00:13:41 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 2:

what's going on yeah grandma ruth bitch shout out to grandma ruth who's 93 years old still kicking love her so much we went over there sunday and when i say we myself josiah and we're over there and josiah's with me the rest of the ladies are in the back playing with the baby and doing and my grandmother and i have the greatest relationship uh that i could ever ask for from anyone she is everything to me and so much more and as i've gotten older our relationship has gone from being super strict to like having this beautiful playful relationship we can just joke and josiah's in front of me i don't know what happens but i stick the middle finger up in my grandmother and josiah

00:14:22 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 5:

everybody's getting it okay you flip off grandma yes it was it was it was in good fun

00:14:39 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 3:

people who flip other people off are so inappropriate

00:14:43 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 2:

Megan flicks me off every morning

00:14:45 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 3:

it's a part of our handshake

00:14:47 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

if she doesn't do it you feel like she's mad at you why are you being nice I flick off my grandmother Josiah's sitting in front of me

00:15:00 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 5:

and he gives me the like i can't believe you just did that face and my grandmother gets up she comes in there she starts to play with josiah and then she flicks josiah off he's like again and i think at that moment he's like okay this is cool i can do this and i kind of wanted to get you know information from you all who are parents and you know other parents out there like when when is it okay to i guess take that next step with your child next step of flipping them off i mean like allowing your child to curse or a lot you know not treating them you know what i mean like because not making things taboo yeah and because one of the things that i've always understood is i want to teach my son i don't want the streets or the school to teach him because they may not always give them context to the topic per se and not saying you need context for flipping off but we're just talking about things that are separate from your child being your baby and then your child starting to become you know an adolescent turning into a teenager and the times are moving faster now that we have all the technology in our hands so i don't know if i'm overreacting thinking that oh because yesterday he started to flick me off for no reason but now he's got like the the thumb out with the middle finger he's like i'm like i love you he's like i love you too

00:16:12 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 6:

and like you did by the way kind of give him that okay because he saw your grandma yeah he's like doing her you know his great grandma doing it and saw you doing it and then laughing afterwards yeah

00:16:23 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 5:

so i don't i don't know if i'm overthinking it or if i'm like you know don't do that anymore don't stick to me because what happens after that is he gonna just start cussing for no reason and it's like am i opening up a door that maybe i shouldn't right now chanon you probably can

00:16:37 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 1:

answer this question because oh my god every time you call me my kids are like and i say

00:16:41 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 6:

a-hole um the funny is though is you cannot laugh afterwards and when you laugh they think that it's

00:16:49 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 1:

okay yeah it's hard not to you heard me on a facetime with lucy the other day and i said something under my breath i think i said spit and she was like mom i i heard you just say spit like they just say it i think for me and my kids are are littler than josiah you know they're six and almost 10 but um i like swearing is a great example middle finger is a great example too they know all that stuff already and so like do we do it inside of our home i mean yeah my thing to them is you know what this is you know this gesture and this word is not nice do not do it outside of the house context yeah yeah like you if you do this at school like i always tell smith if you say dick at school you are going to go to the principal's I should have used the word boner If you say boner at school You are going to go to the principal's office

00:17:47 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 4:

He's talking about a skeleton though

00:17:51 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 1:

But you know what I mean Josiah's not dumb He probably sees people do those things And I think if you say to him Look I did this to grandma As a joke We do not do that That is not what we believe. We do not treat other people that way. We don't, you know, just don't do it when somebody cuts you off in traffic.

00:18:11 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 6:

You're full of it. Kayla, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:18:15 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. Hey, Kevin. Hey, everybody. For me, so I'm a mom of three, and I'm a foul-mouth mom of three. And for me, each kid is their own. I don't treat all of them equally, but it's their maturity, how they're using it, where they're using it. Because, first of all, they're going to hear it from me. so if they're going to hear it from anywhere they're going to hear it from me but as long as they're using it in a respectful manner yeah sometimes joking around is cool but you know as long as they know they're where that limit lies you're not going to go to school and say it you're not going to say it to um you know out of out of context like that but for me it's their maturity

00:18:53 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 6:

and how they're using it yeah yeah i agree if you're using it use it in appropriate ways like Make sure it's in a proper sentence. Dramatically said correct.

00:19:05 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, when your kids swear and they use it in the best way, I'm like, inside. Oh, yeah.

00:19:13 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Julie, what's up?

00:19:15 - 00:19:29 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, I was just talking about I think we shouldn't be the ones that teach our kids to swear. They can hear us do it, but I don't think we should encourage it. We know they're going to do it, but I don't think it helps in front of us.

00:19:29 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 6:

let it let a truck driver teach him out or you know they say you have a mouth like a truck driver

00:19:34 - 00:19:51 | Speaker 4:

go ahead mike well that's where i'm torn with this is because i i agree i think this is like a evolution like they have to learn this stuff it's gonna happen it's and i'm like on the opposite end of this where i'm trying to like hold back the innocence right now and i mean it's it's gonna fail it's i know it's gonna fail and i agree with what you're saying like i just don't know when the

00:19:51 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 3:

right time is to do it i have no idea but at the same time hasn't language evolved to a point where these words are not as bad as they used to be. Well... Because back in the day, if you cursed at work, it was like a fireable offense. And now, you can talk to your boss and be like, this heaven sucks. And it's not like, it's more casual. It's more contextual and like emphasis rather than like degrading and mean.

00:20:18 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 6:

I just like to use British words, you know? Same. Who's like, what? A wanker.

00:20:23 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 3:

The T word is my favorite. What is it? What's the T word? Tally wanker? No, here, I'll type it. I can't say it. I'll type it.

00:20:30 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 6:

I think you can say it on American radio.

00:20:31 - 00:20:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't think. Let's just see what happens. I'm not getting tired.

00:20:35 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 6:

Richard, what's up? Richard?

00:20:37 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 1:

So kind of funny story, super quick. My little sister at her wedding, my son flipped me off out of fun, and the photographer caught it. Like, what's the one in a million chance of that? But kind of like with what Shannon said is I try to teach my son when and where to do things out of more being funny rather than sharing hate, anger, or frustration. And I use it as a way to take that moment, to share better ways to show when you're angry and utilize it as being fun or funny.

00:21:11 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 6:

I think that it's always fun and funny, like at a wedding situation, you got the picture of that, that's funny and stuff. And it's also fun when you do it to the opposing team that's playing, you know, the Lions or something. But it's not good when you're flipping off the teacher in the back of the room and you get that phone call, right, Richard? Hey, I need you to come to the principal's office.

00:21:35 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly.

00:21:36 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, like, did you ever hear this, Kevin? Did you ever hear the, do you know the origins of the word balls on this radio show? I know it was Luke, right? I don't know. Yeah. So, Luke was about ready to start school and he was young. He was getting ready to go to a Catholic school, to Notre Dame.

00:21:53 - 00:21:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:21:54 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 6:

What?

00:21:55 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 5:

Camera?

00:21:57 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 6:

It's not a camera. I'm going to ask you a couple questions.

00:22:02 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 5:

Okay, what?

00:22:03 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 6:

You're getting ready to start kindergarten, right? Yes, B?

00:22:06 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:22:07 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 6:

And you're going to a new school, right?

00:22:11 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:22:13 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 6:

Are you nervous?

00:22:14 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:22:15 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 6:

Are you excited?

00:22:16 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:22:17 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 6:

We have to talk about something.

00:22:20 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 5:

What?

00:22:20 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 6:

we have to talk about your use of the word balls

00:22:25 - 00:22:26 | Speaker 4:

balls

00:22:26 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 6:

you can't say that word when you're in school

00:22:29 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 4:

I know like what are some of the ways

00:22:33 - 00:22:36 | Speaker 6:

you've used that word before what have you said

00:22:36 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 4:

balls axe balls axe

00:22:40 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 6:

and what else

00:22:41 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 4:

tree walls

00:22:43 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 6:

what else

00:22:44 - 00:22:53 | Speaker 4:

all right here's the deal you have to make me a promise

00:22:53 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 5:

okay i want you to raise your hand real quick say i lucas i lucas dad dad i was in preschool

00:23:05 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 6:

without saying any f word i know you didn't say any f word this is a different word though This is as bad as the F word, okay?

00:23:14 - 00:23:14 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:23:15 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 6:

Okay, say I, Lucas.

00:23:17 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 5:

I, Lucas.

00:23:19 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 6:

Do promise.

00:23:20 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 5:

Do promise.

00:23:21 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 6:

That the only time I will say the word balls.

00:23:25 - 00:23:25 | Speaker 5:

Balls.

00:23:26 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 6:

Say the only time I will say the word ball.

00:23:28 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 5:

Balls.

00:23:29 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 6:

Say the only time.

00:23:30 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 5:

The only time.

00:23:32 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 6:

I will say the word.

00:23:33 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 5:

I'll say the word.

00:23:34 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 6:

Balls.

00:23:35 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 5:

Balls.

00:23:36 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 6:

We'll be in gym class.

00:23:37 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 5:

We'll be in gym class. How come I'm in gym class?

00:23:41 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 6:

Because basketballs, footballs. How great is that, by the way? That was amazing. I went through all of preschool without saying the F word. It just kept getting progressively better. He was so proud of himself, too. Listen, Josiah, by the way, has a better vocabulary than I do. And honestly, he's more mature than any of us on this show. It is true. I think he's okay to go ahead and do it. You think so? I think so. I don't know. I'm telling you, I still want to do the bit where we have Josiah go to Kroger and just randomly just start saying inappropriate stuff. And then when people look at him like that's weird, he can just be like, I'm a little man. You know what I'm saying? It's Mojo in the morning show. Megan wants to play a round of Am I the A-Hole? I like this. Is Megan an A-Hole for what she did yesterday? And I'm not going to say the place, but all I'm going to say is a fast food Mexican place.

00:24:32 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Weird. What's going on? This is also one of those establishments where you go in and you tell them exactly what things you want put into your meal.

00:24:41 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I think I know that place.

00:24:44 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

So I go into there and there is like a long line ahead of me. I hate when there's a long line there. And I'm kind of just sitting on my phone and trying to check out and just pretend like I'm not standing in line for this food. That is expensive.

00:25:00 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 4:

And the woman in front of me gets up to the line. And we had been waiting, to be fair, quite a while. So she's clearly irritated just from the jump. She is not happy. And she's going through this line. And a lot of 16, 17-year-olds are working at this restaurant. And she's not happy with the way that her food is being made. And she starts getting really snippy with the girl.

00:25:25 - 00:25:26 | Speaker 1:

What was she upset about?

00:25:26 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 4:

Just not enough food being put in to her meal. Oh, this makes me uncomfortable when you start berating the workers.

00:25:33 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, let me just say this, though, on a berating part. You deserve to get berated if you work at this place because they're now getting very, very stingy with the amount of food they're putting in the bowls.

00:25:46 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 4:

No, you don't berate a 16-year-old because a CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation is getting stingy. That's not the order of operations.

00:25:55 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 1:

Megan, she's hangry.

00:25:59 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 4:

I don't care. The woman? You're a grown-ass lady. Act like it. Have you noticed, though? And stop being mean to teenagers trying to make minimum wage.

00:26:08 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 1:

Listen, you're the same person that thought a salad portion size was way too small to pay that amount of money.

00:26:13 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 4:

And guess what I didn't do? Yell at the employee.

00:26:16 - 00:26:18 | Speaker 1:

You went on the radio and just yelled at them.

00:26:18 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, exactly. Of course I did. Just like you would go home and complain, and I haven't gone back to the restaurant since.

00:26:23 - 00:26:25 | Speaker 1:

Explain the story. Explain the full story, because I'm interrupting you.

00:26:25 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 4:

lady got super mad starts snapping at the 16 year old she starts tearing up the older lady starts getting like kind of emboldened by the fact that she is just devastating this young girl and um is really getting into like the heat of the moment and i yelled at the woman i i totally stepped in i was like this poor girl is not defending herself and i straight up was like you want to know what I really said? I was like, you are such a bitch and I need you to calm down because she has nothing to do with this and the fact that you're taking this out on her is insane. Write a letter for this thing, right? What she said, she did not know how to handle the fact that she was confronted by somebody defending this girl. Like, she was blown away that anybody would stand up and call her out for her behavior. And so she was embarrassed and she was like, you know what, never mind, and she walked out of the line and walked out of the restaurant. Did she buy the bowl? No. Oh, I'd be like, oh, yay, my turn. No.

00:27:33 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so is Megan an a-hole for confronting the lady who is angry over the portion sizes at the fast food Mexican place?

00:27:43 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Heck no. Okay.

00:27:45 - 00:28:07 | Speaker 1:

I think, let's go back to portion sizes. How small are they getting with these portion sizes? No, it's bad. I mean, I've had it before where I've had to, like, say, like, okay, can I get another scoop of that? Like, I'll actually ask for it. Because they'll charge you extra for the double chicken, but they won't charge you extra for the double beans. But they still want to just give you a little bit of beans.

00:28:07 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 3:

I haven't been there in a while, then, because the last time I went, I feel like, well, I door dashed. And it was, like, normal.

00:28:12 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's so small, Shannon.

00:28:13 - 00:28:15 | Speaker 3:

It was yucky because it was the end of the night, but it was normal.

00:28:16 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, here's the thing. At that time, you're just so hungry, you'll eat anything, right?

00:28:20 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is true.

00:28:21 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 1:

But it's gotten to a point now where I used to have to hold it with two hands because it was so heavy. And now I can lift it up on my four fingers.

00:28:29 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 3:

To Megan's point, that girl probably, they probably have a protocol on, like, how big the scoop has to be. And her manager's looking over her shoulder. So it's not her fault that she has to abide by the, you know, the rules of the gods to be.

00:28:43 - 00:28:59 | Speaker 1:

And if I'm paying extra for guac, if I'm paying extra for a thing of guac that they put on the top of it, I want you to, you know, give me a good scoop of that. But Jackie, hello. It's Mojo in the morning. Is Megan an a-hole for confronting the angry lady at the Chipotle?

00:29:00 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 2:

No, not at all. Excuse me. So my teen daughter actually works at Chipotle. And I'm not going to say which location, but she has had burritos thrown at her. And so I was just going to say, don't tell people to berate these people, these workers, because they do. Chipotle workers, I don't know if it's just Chipotle or all fast food, but they treat these young people horribly.

00:29:28 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so your daughters had a burrito thrown at her head?

00:29:32 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 2:

Who would do that? Multiple times. Who are these people? What were they so upset about? Because she didn't put enough in, or sometimes she'll put a scoop of protein in or whatever, and they'll ask her to put a little bit more, so she will, and she'll tell them, like, this will be considered double meat, and they get to the register, and she'll ring them up, and they get so mad that she's charging extra. She has to. standing there and they will throw the food at her oh my god that's crazy people are out of hands

00:30:07 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 1:

rob what's going on how are you i'm doing good guys i love listening to the show all the time um i just have to say megan i'm on your side one million percent because in this world people are so self-absorbed they don't put themselves in the situation of what the real situation is like megan said not that girl's fault that the fortune prices are smaller because of the ceos like and then making the girl cry i commend you for standing up for that girl in front of the public and making that lady feel like crap and you know what the solution is you just go to q dova then

00:30:41 - 00:30:48 | Speaker 6:

you don't have to worry i'd rather eat half the size portions at chipotle than eat a q dova

00:30:48 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 2:

what's up tried the other day it was not good brie what's up it's mocha on the morning hi Hi.

00:30:54 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 6:

By the way, somebody just texted and said, Megan is a GD hero at 734. What's going on?

00:31:01 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 5:

She absolutely is. I'm on Megan's side 100%. I hate when people do that, especially to teenagers. And I worked at McDonald's. I mean, that is the worst job in the entire world. And people are the worst. But I'm calling a story about there was an accident in front of my house. And this lady literally got out of her car because the teenager tapped her car. I watched the whole thing. And she starts screaming at this kid. She's probably, like, just got her license and tapped her car. And she's screaming and screaming at her. And I was like, excuse you. Like, that is totally uncalled for. And she's like, mind your own business. I'm like, you're in my yard.

00:31:42 - 00:31:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. It's my business.

00:31:44 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 5:

Like, everybody, you know, like, that's just too much. So I am with Megan that sometimes you've got to back the younger ones up because the old people are nuts.

00:31:55 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 6:

Kayla, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:31:59 - 00:32:03 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo. I actually used to work at this restaurant that you guys are referring to.

00:32:03 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 6:

What restaurant are you referring to? Can you describe it?

00:32:07 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 4:

Cipadal.

00:32:09 - 00:32:11 | Speaker 6:

I love it. Yeah.

00:32:11 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, I used to work there, and there actually is a standard for the portion sizes. So you're supposed to get four ounces of rice, four ounces of beans, four ounces of your protein. And then for the salsas and things like that, it's two ounces. So it's supposed to be a heaping scoop, but people would get so mad. They'd be like, that's not enough. You put five pieces of chicken on there. So I'd be like, okay, let me give you another half a scoop. Oh, my gosh, you only put three on there. What, are you going to run out? Actually, I think I might. Excuse me how much you're getting on your bowl, but...

00:32:47 - 00:32:48 | Speaker 6:

You're keeping them healthy.

00:32:49 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 4:

Right. People be so mad that you were charged.

00:32:52 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 6:

Can I read, Kayla, I got to read these text messages. These are too good. Listen to these text messages. 313 says, Megan is a hero.

00:32:59 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 2:

Why do you have to say it with such disdain?

00:33:01 - 00:33:15 | Speaker 6:

734 says, another reason Megan is a queen. 810 says, we need more Megans in this world. This is the best one of them all. 248 says, not all heroes wear capes. Yes.

00:33:15 - 00:33:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Some of us wear Modelo baseball hats.

00:33:20 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 6:

No, no, no. Some of us wear. No, hold on. Hold on a second. Sophia's not happy with Megan. What's that, Sophia?

00:33:27 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 3:

So, I agree with the principle of what happened, but I think you could have said it more in a constructive way. No. No. Why? Why?

00:33:40 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 6:

What do you think, Kayla? What did you want to say?

00:33:43 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 4:

I think Megan is totally right in this situation because people used to be so nasty to me as a line worker at Chipotle. I wish I had someone to sit up for me when I used to work there.

00:33:54 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 6:

You wish that you had another person call another woman a bitch for you?

00:33:58 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. These people are out of line, man.

00:34:01 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 6:

Sophia, we're happy that Megan did this for the sake of the fact that Megan never, ever vocalizes anything to somebody in person. No. It doesn't happen.

00:34:12 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 2:

My butthole was puckered. You have to do, girl. Yes. Kudos to you, Megan. But, Sophia, when you see somebody raging out like that, do you really think if you say to them, like, hey, I think that's a really mean way to talk to her, that that's going to settle in at all? Or do you need to meet the same energy? Like, I brought the same energy she was bringing.

00:34:31 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

I think energy. I do agree that you should have said something. And I'm happy that you did, because I worked in fast food as a young kid, and I got treated like garbage. But I think you could have said something more like, hey, what you just said was very disrespectful, and it's not appropriate. She's just doing her job. I think she's more likely to listen to you if you kind of, you know, say it a little more constructively instead of just, like, calling her a bitch. Because then she's going to get triggered and get angry. And you know what I'm saying? Yeah, but she's...

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 1:

And she already was.

00:35:01 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 3:

And it got her to leave.

00:35:02 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 1:

And she left, and you got to get your food faster.

00:35:04 - 00:35:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. My New Year's resolution this year is to be a half-full kind of guy. The glass will be half-full of vodka or whiskey. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:35:14 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning show. So we were hanging out with some friends, and you know how you always hear these stories all the time about people that have, like, picture montages. Like, for instance, have you seen those digital picture frames where you can you can is that what they call skylights my mom and dad have them so they're pictures basically from your phone like any picture you take on your phone goes on to that thing and you know through bluetooth and they randomly go up there and sometimes you'll be sitting there looking at pictures going oh these are cool these are cute look at the the kids and stuff and the next thing you know there's like a random picture that just shows up there that

00:35:52 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 1:

wasn't meant to be on there screenshot of smith's rash that i had to send right or worse your rash

00:35:58 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 2:

Like if that happens, you know what I mean? So this is kind of like that. And if that's ever happened to you, call us up at 844-MOCHO-LIVE and tell us like what everybody saw. This is not a picture. This was actually audio. So we were hanging out with some friends and they have a Sonos system. If you don't know what a Sonos system is, basically it's a system where you can kind of play your music on a little speaker, like a Bluetooth-y speaker. They have their speakers actually attached to their house. and it can be stuff that's off of your phone kind of like you're just playing music you know when you're sitting in your car you know listening to us like the iheart radio app and stuff and nice we're just sitting there listening to whatever playlist is playing i didn't even know what kind of music it was until this incident happened and a song ends and then all of a sudden the song ends and the music stops for a second and the music was fairly loud enough that you noticed oh there's no song coming on again maybe their playlist completely ended or something then all of a sudden you hear what sounds like you know voice memos do you ever do voice memos on your iphone oh yeah like where you record something and you can hear the voice memo well it's also kind of like voice mails that you might get like for instance here i got uh let's see what i got i got voicemails here this is like uh this is my buddy uh paul that sent me a voicemail here all right so he's like randomly i don't know what he's got here this is uh checkup i'm sure

00:37:24 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 3:

Everything's okay. I haven't heard from you since your little broke-back bourbon trip.

00:37:29 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 2:

Right, okay. Broke-back. That's my buddy Paul. He called the trip I went on with the guys a broke-back bourbon trip. All right. So, randomly, you hear the music stop, and then all of a sudden, a message start. And the message happened to be, and I'm going to title this one appropriately enough, the mother effing voicemail. it was our friend's wife who very nice lady mother effing her husband because they were in the midst of a fight and she left him a voicemail where he she was like you mother effing i'm gonna you i can't you can't stand their guts you mother so you're all listening to this so they're in they're in a fight well i'm listening to this but i'm also listening to panic mode trying to stop the thing because he saved the voicemail of her because he wanted I guess proof of her being so angry at him and getting crazy and stuff you know

00:38:30 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 1:

I will F you up bitch

00:38:32 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 2:

getting like all angry and stuff and it randomly played on his playlist and all of us heard it and she was mortified. Did she know that

00:38:42 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 1:

he had saved that or was that the first time that she figured that out well let's just put it this

00:38:49 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 2:

way it was such an embarrassing situation that it literally like a record zip and crash it stopped the whole gathering that we were at and it turned into a situation where we're all like i don't think this is going to be going on very long but she did not know that he did that had no idea um and it brings up a couple of things yeah um have you guys ever had something this embarrassing happen to you where something randomly either was shown like the picture or a voicemail like this um and or if somebody leaves you a voicemail like that do you keep it like would you keep if if you were getting into a fight with your husband or boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever and they were mother effing you and the thing would you do what my friend did

00:39:41 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 1:

would you save the voicemail just to have proof of it oh yeah okay so i haven't done that but i

00:39:48 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 2:

have screenshotted text messages oh and you save those for days yeah i have screenshotted text

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

messages from people that i know like i i just want to keep in my back pocket

00:40:00 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 2:

But people don't really call me and leave messages because I tell you not to in my voicemail. So I don't have that, but I definitely screenshot texts. I think it's one thing if you think you're going to find it funny later on. Like if the reaction was so crazy to something that you're like, hopefully one day we can listen to this and laugh. I get that. But if you're saving it for like, if we get divorced, I've got proof. That's so bad. That makes me uncomfortable.

00:40:24 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 1:

I know people that have a divorce file. They save everything. uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 or text 95500 stacy what embarrassing thing accidentally got

00:40:37 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 3:

seen by everybody okay so um i sent a bunch of pictures to be printed and my daughter and daughter-in-law were looking through them and somehow i know the law did not collect these pictures and a couple booty pics that i had sent my husband were in there and my daughter was 15 at the time. She was like, what the hell is this? And I was like, oh, dear God. I was like, she goes, Mom, you're disgusting, you know. I was like, oh, my God. I was like, what the heck? And I'm like, give me those pictures right now. And she goes, oh, no, I want to know if there's more now. Hey, it's good for her to know that you have a healthy relationship with her daddy. You know, ugh. It's her stepdaddy, so that's even worse. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was good times, good times. My daughter-in-law was like, I don't want to see that side of you. I'm like, hold on, don't look at those freaking pictures.

00:41:29 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Taylor, what's happening? How are you?

00:41:33 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm amazing. How are you?

00:41:35 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 1:

Doing good. You had an embarrassing situation to happen?

00:41:39 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 4:

Probably the most embarrassing of my life. So I had a porn. Hold on. Close your door.

00:41:44 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 1:

Can you close it? Or put the seatbelt on. Go ahead.

00:41:47 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 4:

I had a porn site open on my phone, and it started playing when I set it down. And my phone was connected to the Bluetooth in the house. So the whole house is full of, like, the moaning and the grunting and the sex noises of the porn. And everyone's just looking around, and I'm looking around, and I'm like, what is that? I didn't even realize it was playing. So I click at my phone, and I'm like, okay.

00:42:17 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I'm happy that that actually happens to women, Because I bet you it happens more so to guys when they last played something on their phone. That's hysterical.

00:42:28 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 2:

You can always tell who does that on their phone when you ask to Google something, and they have to clear up. They've got to open up the Internet first and then hand you the phone. What were you watching?

00:42:36 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 1:

What is it, delete my cache or whatever it is?

00:42:39 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 5:

When you go to, like, an iPhone and search up something, like, say you're searching up, like, a picture of a cake, and for whatever reason...

00:42:46 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second, real quick. I didn't get a chance to actually... is this is not the same caller we were just talking to who is this is this is not i mean i'm sorry oh i'm sorry i like who are you this is maria all of a sudden i just picked up a line and you're you're randomly just having i like that you're so comfortable talking to us you didn't even let me introduce you hi maria hi what's going on what were you gonna say

00:43:09 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 5:

so what happened was i was showing my mom um some pictures of a or like some cakes and some food that i was making for my ex and in like the photo uh realm if you will when i'm swiping over here comes a video of me literally recording myself trying to run my ex over oh and my mom's

00:43:30 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 1:

like what what happened so it was just a hot mess wait a second you were trying to run your ex over

00:43:40 - 00:43:46 | Speaker 5:

it's a long story it's a long story okay i actually we have time yeah we have a little

00:43:46 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 2:

bit of time yeah the dirty is always late go what happened yeah

00:43:49 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 4:

oh don't get quiet now come on oh i'm sorry oh wait i'm live now yeah don't listen to the radio

00:43:59 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 1:

it's gonna screw you up just listen in your phone what was what was the story why why were

00:44:03 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 5:

you trying to run over your ex okay so i woke up something told me to wake up that night and i woke up and we were living with each other just to give you that backstory but anyways i looked on his phone and um i woke up around two o'clock in the morning i looked on his phone and he was texting all of these women basically cheating on me it was absolutely horrible to know that you know i've been sleeping next to this guy for a long time and the text threads that i've seen were from a while back so it was just

00:44:33 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 1:

so you got in the car waited for him to walk outside and tried to run him over and took video of it you actually got video proof of that

00:44:46 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 5:

I did we fought inside him and we went outside

00:44:49 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 1:

wow okay by the way I gotta tell you our listeners are the most interesting people ever I listen to some of these other radio shows and listen no offense to the other radio shows We'll be right back. You guys are fabulous. You do the 5-10 game better than anybody. But this is damn funny. These people are crazy that we're talking to right now. Don't run me over for saying that. What's up, Haley?

00:45:11 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 3:

Hi. First on caller. Hey. Hey.

00:45:16 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 1:

Cav is out, so Zach is filling in. Thank you, Zach. What's going on, Haley?

00:45:21 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so I used to be a client, or I used to clean for clients, and I had this one guy, single, like recently divorced, older, maybe in his late 40s early 50s and he had one of those alexas that always showed the pictures on his phone and i was cleaning and some pictures popped up of some nude girls and some facetime screenshots oh geez oh wait really awkward yeah i definitely did not bring this up i i always cleaned he always would be at work and would leave it unlocked and i would i would get it done and

00:46:01 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 1:

get on out of there but be honest did you start looking a little bit more at that little thing that alexa thing just to see if anything else would pop up on there or no i actually did the

00:46:12 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 3:

complete opposite i looked down anytime i was here i was too nervous i didn't want to see anything i

00:46:19 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 1:

was there to clean and that was it i'm telling you those little frame cameras things you got to be careful of and of course now that you just heard the story i told you today be careful of any audio that you've got on any playlist because they will randomly just start playing crazy crap uh thank you oh my gosh yeah thanks for the call i appreciate you hayley take care of yourself

00:46:38 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 3:

yes you guys have a good day it's mojo in the morning

00:46:42 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 1:

five lines to tell your mother alexis hi hey so you live with your mom i do you and your boyfriend right or is it your yeah he's my fiance your fiance and your mom has like one rule and what's the

00:47:04 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 2:

rule if you guys are living together yeah the one rule is i'm not allowed to have a baby while i'm

00:47:10 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 1:

living in her house okay so it's just a temporary thing until you guys get married yes yep and then she wants us out and start her own life all right well we're gonna have some fun with mom then with five lies to tell your mom all right lie number one that you're gonna say to your mom you're gonna say mom i need to live with you longer lie number two say we actually don't want to move out line number three so we hire contractors for the basement line number four they're putting in a kitchen and line number five and a nursery too oh my gosh okay so you're going to be breaking mom's rule okay how do you think your mom will feel about being a grandma oh my god i think she's gonna pull it let's call her up and see what happens okay okay

00:48:08 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

hello hey mom can you talk yeah what's up okay so i guess i i've been wanting to talk to you But, you know, me and Carter, we really need to live with you longer. We've decided we just don't want to move out. We're not ready for that. There's too much going on. But we were talking. And, you know, I think that we made a good decision here. And we actually hired some contractors for the basement. you did what you know so we hired some contractors for the basement you know because it's not finished yet just to make it like more like a home to do what well so we're gonna put in a kitchen um you know you have all of your candle stuff on the side by the door and you know i think just moving all of that and putting in a kitchen that way we actually have water and we don't have to go upstairs would be really helpful and then i think what'd you say where the candle stuff is yeah we're like you know your candle bench i think that's where the kitchen will go the contractors are going to be out like i think they said like this week or next week just to look like at the dimensions and stuff um but like well

00:50:00 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, it's already happening. And then in the makeup room... No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:50:09 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 3:

I'm out.

00:50:11 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 4:

No, well, okay, listen. In the makeup room, we were going to take that out, and we'll make that into a nursery. What? We're going to make it into a nursery for the baby. like seriously like seriously that's what we don't want to move out you know we're just going to stay with you put our money towards contractors do the basement put the makeup room into a nursery are you trying to tell me something yeah You need to tell Dad. Well, that's why I wanted to call you. All right. And, um...

00:51:05 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 1:

You can go ahead and tell her.

00:51:07 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 4:

Okay, Mom, you're on five lives to tell your mom. You f***ing little bitch.

00:51:13 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 2:

Man, you were really holding that one in.

00:51:22 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:51:23 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 1:

Mom, it's Mojo in the morning.

00:51:25 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 3:

We have how much money out for a wedding?

00:51:31 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy.

00:51:34 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 3:

And then you're going to take my business and move it without talking?

00:51:38 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

Wait, Mom, you do understand this is just a joke, right?

00:51:41 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 3:

I do, yes. Oh, the little bitch. Okay.

00:51:48 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I love you.

00:51:51 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Mom, what's the name of your candle business?

00:51:55 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 4:

Candles and lights make everything nice.

00:51:58 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I just want to use that slogan and then hear you say, you little bitch.

00:52:07 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 3:

Out of all my kids. And these little bitches all knew about it.

00:52:12 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, everybody's in on it, Mom.

00:52:17 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 3:

I love you. It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lines to tell your mom.

00:52:29 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show. Megan's got a wedding that is coming up, and she needs a little wedding etiquette to be answered here. Megan, where's the wedding?

00:52:41 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 2:

I have tons of weddings coming up. I actually have three weddings in the next two months. One of them is in Chicago. One is in Waterville. And then the other one is in Columbus. So two of them are, well, technically all three of them are out of town for me.

00:53:00 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 1:

Destination weddings. I love going to Waterville for a destination wedding.

00:53:03 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, at least in Toledo, the Waterville one, I have a place to stay. So I don't have to worry about, like, a hotel there, but it's still, you know, gas money and all that. But the one in Columbus and the one in Chicago, it's going to cost me a lot of money. By the time I get out there, I don't know if I'm flying yet to Chicago or if I'm driving, but either way, that's going to be pricey. And then to drive down to Columbus and back and get hotel rooms, I just, I have a question because I'm going to be spending so much money. I'm curious, what is the etiquette or the standard when it comes to getting a gift when you go to out-of-town weddings? Because I'm spending so much money to be there, is it also expected for me to spend money to attend?

00:53:49 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it the same as if you went to a wedding here in town, you got to buy a gift?

00:53:52 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 2:

I don't, I don't know. I say yes, but I know a lot of people, I don't, I just would feel weird not giving the same.

00:54:02 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 1:

I think there's a difference between an out-of-town wedding and a destination wedding. Like, I think if the wedding was like in the, you know, the Virgin Islands or whatever, like that. Like, where you're going to, like, some place, like some exotic place that was going to cost a lot of money. Then I could see you saying, all right, well, I spent all this money for this. And I know you are spending money to go out of town. But if you're going to Columbus or you're going to Chicago.

00:54:31 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, Chicago is roughly $300 a night for a hotel room and $100 a night to park. And I have to go for four days. Why are you going for four days? There's events the night before I have to be at, the actual day of the wedding, the day after the wedding. There's events that I've got to be at. And then I really want to see Ellen for one day that's not the wedding.

00:54:54 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, okay. I feel bad for every guy who has to be dragged to these weddings.

00:55:00 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 7:

and sneak watching college football on his phone y'all picked the worst time for weddings bro like football is about to be on i don't want to sit in this hot ass get married get married at a time

00:55:11 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 5:

where it's just baseball exactly all three weddings are on friday too oh fridays are not bad so i

00:55:17 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 6:

and i have to use vacation days fridays are better to have than saturdays when it's uh like kev said

00:55:24 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 7:

college football yeah football some saturdays are for the boys not exactly not for the marriages i I think when it comes to gift giving, I always prefer to be as intentional as possible. And intentionality doesn't always mean a higher price tag. So I think if you know your friend and you can get them something that says, I know you, that'll feel better to them than just, you know, the X amount of dollar gift.

00:55:47 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 5:

I also think the dollar gift of a wedding has gone up because the price of a wedding has gone up.

00:55:53 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 7:

For sure. I mean, people are charging tickets to go to weddings, which is nuts to me.

00:55:57 - 00:56:02 | Speaker 6:

um let's ask uh dawn hi dawn what are your thoughts on this one

00:56:02 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 3:

are they feeding her are they feeding you they are then you need to bring a gift

00:56:10 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 5:

okay it's all about food so if i don't eat i don't have to bring a guest you need to bring a gift bag and bring a gift

00:56:19 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 6:

i'll get mcdonald's on the way there dude what if it's just charcuterie boards if it's just a

00:56:26 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 3:

charcuterie board then you don't give a gift then the gift is really cheap from the dollar store but

00:56:32 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 6:

still bring a gift yeah now but i think megan has megan's point is and i think i agree with you i think she needs to bring a gift but megan's point is that she's gonna have to spend a lot of money to get there does her gift then change based on how much money she has to spend based you know compared to other people that live in town and just get to drive from their homes to go

00:56:53 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 3:

i mean for me it would be a pride thing do you want them to open a crappy gift and remember you always as a crappy gift giver or do you want to be proud in what you're giving these people that you love enough to go all the way there for the wedding but don't they also think oh wow my friend

00:57:11 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 5:

loves me enough to spend over a thousand dollars to go to my wedding do they think that they probably

00:57:17 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 3:

He won't even remember that you were there. That's not true.

00:57:23 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 6:

If they don't remember, then don't give them a gift. They won't remember that you got

00:57:27 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 1:

a gift. I feel like, as crappy as this sounds, it's like if you are given the choice of saying yes or no to going. You do have a choice. To not go. You do have a choice. No.

00:57:44 - 00:57:49 | Speaker 6:

844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548

00:57:49 - 00:57:52 | Speaker 7:

Nobody's forcing you to go. But what does that mean for the relationship of the friendship?

00:57:52 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 1:

No, I agree with you. But what I'm saying is they are giving you, like, I feel like you have to show up to a wedding with a gift. And they are giving you the choice. If they know that you have to travel, like, I don't think that they could be mad at you if you don't come. They'd have to understand that that's a big undertaking for a lot of people.

00:58:11 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 6:

You know?

00:58:12 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 1:

Even if it's not to the Virgin Islands, like he said.

00:58:15 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 6:

it's expensive a couple of texters actually comment on that uh destination weddings to exotic locations do not require gifts according to most etiquette that's interesting i have not looked that up but so it's a fact check that and then uh a couple of other people that are texting in and saying that megan if you are going to chicago it's cheaper to fly there and take ubers than it is to park parking is expensive abby what's going on it's mojo in the morning Does Megan have to bring a gift to an out-of-town wedding? Or does her gift have to be so nice?

00:58:49 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 2:

If it's an out-of-town wedding, then the couple has to travel back, too. And they don't want to fly with your fake presents. So you can just get them a gift card.

00:58:55 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 6:

No, they live there. Yeah. Yeah, the people live in Chicago and Columbus now. That's why they're having it there.

00:59:03 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 2:

Then get on something juicy and heartfelt and say you couldn't afford to check it back.

00:59:09 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 6:

Nikki, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:59:11 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 4:

hi i'm sorry megan i think you have to buy a gift i do even though you're spending so much money and it sounds like this is like one of your best friends you do have to give a gift because i feel like that money like i've always been told really goes towards like the venue right so if you're rsd paying to go it's kind of like contributing to that so they're paying for

00:59:34 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 6:

their venue based off of the cash uh gift that you're giving i mean like i always give gifts

00:59:40 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 4:

on like per plate right like if you're if you're gonna be eating a plate then you should give a

00:59:47 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 6:

gift yeah um i know a lot of weddings i know certain cases with some of the ethnic weddings that's what they look at they look at making their money back off of how much they're spending i never thought of that when we were

01:00:00 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 2:

getting married at all what's up tom how you doing i'm good uh what is it first time caller long time nice to have you on you wanted to comment yeah she's flying out to a place um i actually just came from my sister-in-law's wedding i went to dubai and i well i bought like gold and stuff

01:00:22 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 3:

but you can just give like you bought gold you want gold to give as a wedding gift

01:00:27 - 01:00:27 | Speaker 1:

He's in Dubai.

01:00:27 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 2:

Megan, this might be your date. Yeah, I'm Bengali, so traditionally we give gold and gold. Wow.

01:00:33 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 6:

I just think we're in different tax brackets.

01:00:37 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 1:

Tom.

01:00:37 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm not a rich guy. I got obligations.

01:00:41 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 1:

Tom, would you like to be Megan's plus one at her wedding?

01:00:44 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 6:

Please.

01:00:45 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 1:

No way. My wife would kill me. Okay. That's amazing. What did Dubai cost? That had to be expensive to go to Dubai.

01:00:52 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 2:

If you plan ahead, a thousand bucks round trip. and the five-star hotels are really cheap. They're like $100.

01:00:59 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 6:

Wait, why does it cost the same to go to Dubai as it does to Chicago?

01:01:02 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Liz, what's your advice for Megan?

01:01:07 - 01:01:11 | Speaker 5:

Can you stay in a suburb of Chicago rather than the city itself?

01:01:12 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 6:

The only thing that sucks with that because that would make it cheaper hotel-wise is it would be more expensive car-wise.

01:01:21 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You know...

01:01:23 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 6:

But what do you mean? You're still driving in to park.

01:01:28 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's super hard to drive in the city. We went to a wedding like 20 years ago, and we did that. We stayed in the summer.

01:01:37 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 1:

One of the other things, too, is because my son lives in Chicago, a lot of times people are Airbnb-ing places that have a parking spot, which is one way to save, too. Can I tell you one of the greatest things ever is when you find out somebody's getting married, but they're going to have a family-only small wedding. when they do that you're like oh thank you jesus what's up jackie how you doing hey good morning how are you mojo good what's going on you want to help megan with this yeah just some friendly

01:02:04 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 3:

advice as a an 80s kid is i don't know if she's a millennial i don't remember her age but she sounds pretty young but thank you know it's kind of like an entitlement age bracket oh i take that Well, whatever it is, it's like you're saying, my gift is that I'm here. And the fact is, a wedding, it's like a birth and a funeral. Hopefully it happens once, not always. But if you're going, be remembered for something you gave. Like one of the callers I heard said, make it meaningful. Or maybe someone kind of said it, but just make it meaningful. You know what I mean? And if it's not expensive, that's fine. No one's really looking at the price. You know, some people say cash gifts only, no wrapped gifts. So if she's accepting wrapped gifts or you do an experience with her while you're there, say this is my gift to you and your new hubby. You know, we're going to do something together. Just make it something she'll remember because it's hopefully once in a lifetime.

01:03:02 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 1:

It's not anymore.

01:03:04 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 6:

Jackie, it's funny that you say that you think that I come from the entitled generation when I feel like the standard used to be if you were traveling. Yes. Then you didn't have to do it again. No, I agree with that. I'm bringing this up to confirm that it's still an obligation. But back in the day, if you came from out of town and you had to pay for a hotel and you had to fly in or whatever it was, it was not expected for you to get a gift.

01:03:27 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And nowadays, a card's $10. I mean, it's crazy.

01:03:30 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 6:

That's true.

01:03:31 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 4:

I know.

01:03:32 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 1:

Charlotte, what's up? Last call.

01:03:35 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So, Megan, you're already spending all this money to travel to these weddings. I don't think you should get any gifts. And if you really want clarification on that, it sounds like these are really good friends of yours, so you can always talk to them and say, hey, I don't want to sound like a penny pincher here, but I'm really spending a lot of money to be there for you on your special day and spend time with you guys and celebrate that I don't have the extra cash to get you.

01:04:05 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 1:

See, I would never do that. I would just hope that they thought they misplaced your card. Just pretend. Actually, you know what you do? Here's what you do. You look for cards with cash in it. You open it up, pull their card out, throw it away, put the cash in your card, and there you're golden, Megan.

01:04:24 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 4:

I love that.

01:04:25 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 1:

You like that idea better, Shirley?

01:04:26 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I think you're spending a lot of money, Megan.

01:04:29 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So don't bring a guess?

01:04:30 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 4:

That's just how I do.

01:04:32 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 6:

Don't bring a guess.

01:04:33 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:04:33 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 6:

I'm with her. I like her because she's the only one that says no time.

01:04:38 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 1:

Jackie's going to call back and say she must be from that other generation. Megan, she's the best. And don't you forget it. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:04:49 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 6:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the Morning.

01:04:52 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. I want to bring this up, and I need your help with this. So if you are listening, I don't even want you to... you text i want you to just call our phone number 844-665-6548-844-MOJO-LIVE one of my friends called me to tell me that he broke up with his girlfriend of six months who i actually kind of liked it was funny because i i was really thinking this is the girl like i thought this is the girl that he's he's been waiting for his whole life you know and it's funny because you obviously are not in the relationship with them they are in the relationship but you see them and you're like oh these guys look good together you ever see that yeah and he broke up with her yesterday and did he do something wrong he called her up on the phone to tell her that he wasn't feeling it and he wanted to not be in the relationship anymore and she answers the phone and he could obviously hear people in the background she was at home and he says what are you doing and he says I'm just hanging out with some of my friends and she had a couple girls that were over at the house and he goes can I talk to you for just a second and she goes okay hold on let me walk to the other room she goes to her other room of her apartment where he proceeds to tell her that he would like to break

01:06:12 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 2:

up over the phone while she has friends there

01:06:16 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 1:

while she's got friends there can I ask you a question?

01:06:19 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 2:

do we know this person?

01:06:21 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 1:

you might have met him before

01:06:23 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 2:

recently broke up with somebody and I was

01:06:25 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 1:

wondering how they did it oh no this was actually literally it happened last night oh okay yeah no no this is not but you gotta tell me who that person is i want to know who that person is but uh no uh i think all you guys might have met him because he's come out to things before but this is the wildest part what shannon just said he broke he still knew that her friends were there and he broke up and when i said to him i go you why'd you break up with her in front of her friends that's crappy his exact reasoning was well when she told me her friends were there i thought well at least she'll have people there with her when it happened i'm like that's like the worst who wants to walk into the other room in a an emotional state like like they were going from all this fun stuff going on with each other to now she's emotional and upset he ruined their

01:07:18 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 2:

her night not even that i think it's just such a massive cop-out and a cowardly thing to do to break up over the phone anyway i'm not allowed to say anything to that because i did that once

01:07:28 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 1:

you did i did channon it's gotten worse though people i've heard more broke up over text than i can't believe how many people do that yeah i mean it is it's pretty bad you know i'd be

01:07:41 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 2:

mortified though because like you're you crumble yeah you know what i mean you crumble and yes you you want your girlfriends. I would go to my girlfriends right away. But you need the time by yourself to frickin' process what just happened to you.

01:07:57 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 I'd love to know your opinion on this. I want to know if there's any people that think that that's actually okay. Is it okay? Yeah, that's okay what he did. Whatever the deal. They've only been dating six months. Tell me your thoughts. I want to know that. But I also want to know if you can bury him because I'd like to play on this audio later. And I would also like to know if there's anybody that has been broken up in a way like this, where they were broken up in what was a very non-thoughtful way. I mean, I don't know if there's a thoughtful thing. There are thoughtful breakups. We had a guy one time that called up our show and I think we were talking about something and he goes, yeah, he goes, I broke up. I sent her flowers and I sent her with a card saying that I just wanted to give you something really, really nice today because I know that today will be a tough day. I'm thinking, that guy might be a keeper. That was sweet.

01:08:56 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

No. Where's the drop of you

01:08:58 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 1:

dick? Why is that a dick?

01:09:00 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 2:

That's called sandwiching. Really? You're doing something nice or talking about something nice and in between it, there's just crap. Really? And that's what that is. Yes.

01:09:07 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 1:

But at least she got some flowers out of the deal.

01:09:09 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 2:

And they're going to die four days later. And then she's going to look at those dead flowers and be reminded

01:09:13 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 1:

of her dead relationship oh wow so why are fake flowers yeah yeah by her plastic flowers those those gold roses that last like six years no i don't know i i i actually thought it was kind of a sweet thing i never even thought of it uh that day uh um texter by the way just texting and just said that uh that's a lot better than what happened with me i got served papers at my child's sport game no yeah that that would be bad can you imagine that yeah and then you got to sit there yeah what's going on hi kylie what's happening

01:10:00 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 5:

Um, I was just calling to tell you guys that my fiance of four years broke up with me over text.

01:10:06 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, four years. You guys, wait, you guys were engaged for four years or together for four years?

01:10:12 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 5:

Uh, so we were together for four years. We were engaged for two.

01:10:15 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 1:

Jeez.

01:10:16 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 5:

And what did that text say? Uh, she said, I can't do this anymore. And I said, okay. And then we didn't speak for three months until I needed my stuff back.

01:10:25 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 6:

Oh my God. That was it? You were together four years, and it was just a sentence.

01:10:32 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, we were, so she lived, this is a long story, she lived in England, so we were actually applying for my visa that night, and she texted me, like, last minute, was like, I can't do this anymore, and I was like, oh, okay, cool, thanks.

01:10:47 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 1:

But, you know, it's not like she could do it personally, because she's over in England at the time, so I guess maybe at least a FaceTime would have been okay, or no? But would that be too...

01:10:58 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. No, like, so we would FaceTime all the time. So, like, FaceTime would just be, like, a normal face-to-face, I guess. But, yeah.

01:11:05 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Wow. Well, are you in a better place now? Did you find somebody better?

01:11:11 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 5:

I'm still single, but I have a new house now, and I'm doing a lot. I've got somebody. I've got somebody.

01:11:18 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 1:

She's right across the control board, and she does makeup really nicely. She's a great makeup artist.

01:11:23 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Wait, where do you live? Where's the house? I live in Riverview.

01:11:27 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Is that nice?

01:11:28 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 6:

Downriver girl. Is that nice? Downriver girl. All right.

01:11:30 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 1:

All right.

01:11:32 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 6:

How you doing?

01:11:33 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Good morning. Close enough to go visit family in Toledo. What's going on, Ian? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. Do you think my buddy's a coward? I do. And I'm hoping he hears this.

01:11:46 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, depends, because my girlfriend broke with me over the phone. I was at my buddy's house.

01:11:53 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, same situation.

01:11:54 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 2:

And it's pretty much, and I walked in the room, and I was like, let's party, guys.

01:12:01 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's how you reacted to her doing this?

01:12:04 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was like, let's not think about it, let's just go out and party. How do guys do that?

01:12:09 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 6:

I don't understand how guys will break up, and then they pretend like it doesn't matter, and then four months later, they have a full breakdown. And girls are like the opposite, where we have the full breakdown, and then four months later, it's like, I need a drink and get laid. That is so accurate.

01:12:23 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 1:

Wow. I just want to party! That's crazy. So your reaction to that, obviously, was I was not into that relationship at all.

01:12:33 - 01:12:33 | Unknown:

Correct.

01:12:33 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 1:

Okay. You know what? Maybe it's something that guys do more so than girls. I thought it was kind of sad that this happened to her right in front of her friends. Bobby, what's up?

01:12:45 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going? I'm a first-time caller, long-time listener. Hey, there we go. Zach, come on.

01:12:53 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Bobby.

01:12:54 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 2:

Bobby's on the fire? Yes.

01:12:56 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 1:

Cavs out today. So we got a little help from Zach, our executive audio producer. What's going on, buddy?

01:13:04 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 3:

Hey, nothing much. I'm just driving to work. But my question is, would you rather that he just ghost her?

01:13:15 - 01:13:15 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:13:15 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 3:

Because, exactly.

01:13:17 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 1:

If your choices are that. Yeah. Come on. I mean, you're right in the fact that at least he just didn't stop talking to her, you know, and it actually was pretty upfront about the thing, or if he let her on for more time. But, no, you're right. But you don't think that that's insensitive to hear that she's out with her friends?

01:13:40 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:13:40 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, I think he's, he ghosted us.

01:13:44 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 2:

He knew he was wrong, and he just silently hung around. What's up?

01:13:47 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 1:

phone what's up is your name g or is that initial we're using for you that's an initial what's going on g hey g i feel like i'm like hey this is kind of cool i remember those days when people would

01:13:59 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 4:

say hey g yeah well my name's glenn but i go by g oh all right glenn what's going on check it out back when i was like 18 i called this girl up and broke up with her in the worst way and it's mess with me ever since. I literally called her up. She answered the phone all sweet. I said, how are you doing? She said fine. I flushed the toilet. I said, you have now been dumped and hung up on her.

01:14:22 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. You're dumb. You're just dumb. That happened how long ago and you're still feeling bad on it?

01:14:34 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 4:

You're so dumb. I'm 42 now. No, he's still proud. Listen to him.

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 1:

No, he said he felt bad about it. Right, G?

01:14:42 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 4:

Hey, ever since then, because my mom heard me do it, and trust me, I went to Hellenbeck. Ever since then, I've treated women with nothing.

01:14:51 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, see that? Now he's actually a good guy at 42 years old. It took him 42 years to finally become a nice guy.

01:14:57 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 4:

It took a minute.

01:14:58 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, Glenn.

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 3:

NG, what's going on, buddy? Have a great day, okay?

01:15:03 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 2:

Hey, thank you guys for letting me share that. I love y'all. You know, I've been listening to you guys for damn near 20 years. I love you too.

01:15:08 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 3:

You're the best, buddy. Thanks, man.

01:15:11 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 2:

All right, thank you guys. Love y'all. Bye.

01:15:13 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 3:

Appreciate it. All right. Well, I thought it was very insensitive. I thought that, you know, you got to give a person at least a chance to kind of like be by themselves and have one of those moments. because i don't know i don't know about you but when i'm in a sad moment i just want to like eat chocolate and stuff but 70 right isn't that what we like to do me all of us all of us girls i'm

01:15:40 - 01:16:14 | Speaker 1:

just hanging out with the girls what's going on so my friend lived in grand rapids and went to grand valley and she was named this guy for only about a couple of months so you know not like years or anything but she came home this weekend to see him and they had plans i guess on saturday so we went out on friday night and he was texting her all normal and everything and then the next morning same thing texting her all normal and she's like all right i'm getting ready to head out i'll you know be on my way home and he's like okay great 10 minutes go by and she's like he just broke up with me and we were like you're joking she's like nope he broke up with me this guy

01:16:14 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 3:

bipolar story i don't know i thought she was joking isn't that crazy everything was like perfectly fine you know that he was trying to build up to that like he was you know

01:16:25 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he could have waited until they got together in person.

01:16:28 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 3:

Tell me this, though. Did you guys then just eat a bunch of chocolate together afterwards?

01:16:33 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 1:

No, unfortunately we did not. That's a Taco Bell kind of night.

01:16:37 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 3:

That's a Taco Bell night? Okay. Taco Bell. Yeah, that's better. That's your breakup meal. All right, thanks for the call.

01:16:43 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 1:

Check out our Facebook page. Facebook.com slash Mojo in the Morning.

01:16:49 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. I don't want to do this next topic, so we're not going to. We're going to have just five minutes of silence. I'm looking up at the topic title is, ready for this one? Mojo is a fashionista.

01:17:03 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's mine.

01:17:04 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 3:

And Kevin is the one that wants to do this topic. What is this about?

01:17:08 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 4:

Mr. John Varvatos over here is a thingy fashion icon. And yesterday, I'm doing the same thing today. Mojo feels like if you have a shoe that can have multicolor, but the main color is white, that you have to wear white socks. Yeah, like if you have a gym shoe or if you have a white shoe, you're right. I have black pants on. Yes. Black socks. Yeah. And my shoe, these black pants are a little faded though. The other ones was darker. black pants black socks the majority of my shoe i would say is silver and white green accents and it's hella black all over it yeah so in my mind it was you go black pan black sock and let the shoe be the main piece to kind of get the eye by kind of dummying down the lower extremities yeah mojo said i should have wore a white sock mind you he got on white socks with a majority black shoe No. So he's not even filling his own rules. I got black hokas with...

01:18:16 - 01:18:17 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

01:18:17 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 3:

The name brand don't even matter. I got black hokas with white bottoms. Exactly.

01:18:23 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 4:

I got black shoes and white socks. You got white socks and black shoes.

01:18:26 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 3:

And I'm wearing white no-shows.

01:18:29 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 4:

I'm only bringing it up because he brought it up. He thought he was fast.

01:18:32 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

What I'm saying is, show those pants off to the camera. So everybody that's watching, let them see it. You can't lift your leg up. Yesterday was better. You got fat thighs. Go ahead.

01:18:43 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 4:

I can lift my leg higher than you. Go ahead. Let me see you lift your leg up there. No, I'm not fulfilling your sexual desire.

01:18:53 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second.

01:18:54 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Let's see it.

01:18:56 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 1:

Does he have a leg lifting fetish? Let's see. See that?

01:19:00 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 3:

He's got black socks with white shoes. You can't do that.

01:19:02 - 01:19:08 | Speaker 2:

And continuing the black pants and the black socks elongates your legs.

01:19:09 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 1:

I, okay, I can't believe I'm about to say this.

01:19:12 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 4:

You better not.

01:19:14 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 2:

Mojo's right.

01:19:14 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 4:

Why? I agree. Thank you. So you're saying a white sock would look better? I don't think it looks bad.

01:19:20 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 2:

But with those pants, it would look like he's playing in a baseball game. I don't think it looks bad.

01:19:24 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 1:

I do think it looks better. And I also think the trend right now is to have the higher socks, like, over your pants when they're tight at the bottom.

01:19:31 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 2:

That's not, this is not on purpose. I know, but when you're short, you can't do that. And you're not that tall, Kev, sorry.

01:19:35 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 1:

I'm not tall. When you're good.

01:19:36 - 01:19:44 | Speaker 4:

I'm not short as you. I don't know. I'm trying to. i'm not saying i love it no you're good but look you got a whole white hoodie on so you got white

01:19:44 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 1:

up top you got the white below okay yeah i'm talking about the socks over the the like my

01:19:49 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 3:

pants go down farther than my socks i want to call is there anybody that works i i know a guy this guy david who works over at uh at sax uh fifth avenue sax uh i'm And I want to ask him what the call is on this one.

01:20:03 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 2:

We're also talking about the guy who, like, literally has a staple look, which is Mojo. He has a look. He always looks put together. Thank you. And then there's you. Wait, do you wear white socks right now?

01:20:13 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Megan, you don't want to do this.

01:20:15 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 2:

Mojo?

01:20:15 - 01:20:16 | Speaker 3:

Yes, son.

01:20:16 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 2:

Are you wearing white socks?

01:20:17 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm wearing, no, I'm wearing no-shows. Look. So there's, like, the no-shows. Hey, look at the little no-shows. It doesn't matter. Yeah, they're no-shows. It doesn't matter. They look good. And I got white on my shoes. I got black on my shoes. By the way, if you go to the HOKA website, the exact pair of shoes, the guy's wearing them with the same socks. Bing, bing, bing, bing. Oh, that's where you got it from?

01:20:38 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're off the mannequin guy.

01:20:39 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 3:

You think the HOKA people would do that? What's up, Nicole? How you doing?

01:20:44 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good.

01:20:45 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:20:47 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, I have a Philadelphia versus Michigan white sock, black sock conversation on the daily. My sister sends me pictures of her disgusting black socks with her white sneakers at the gym, and it kills me to see it. Like, that's a no.

01:21:03 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 4:

You can't do that. Nicole. No. It's not an all-white shoe, though.

01:21:08 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 1:

I don't care. I don't care.

01:21:10 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 3:

First off, the guy's got orthopedic shoes because he's got old man feet.

01:21:14 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 4:

I got flat feet, and I got my insoles in that were molded to my foot. Yes, I do. I got to take care of myself.

01:21:21 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 1:

Here's my feeling. The people who always are wearing black socks with their sneakers, it's because they don't like the dirty white socks.

01:21:28 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Listen, Dr. Scholl over here.

01:21:32 - 01:21:33 | Unknown:

Is that what it is?

01:21:33 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 4:

Do you not have any white socks? I forgot. I wish I could. I got white socks. No, no.

01:21:36 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 3:

But like actually like bright white.

01:21:38 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:21:39 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 3:

You say it's a Philadelphia thing? Or is your sister just from Philadelphia?

01:21:42 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 1:

My sister is in Philly and they are always wearing black socks with white sneakers. It's awful. And then they wear black sneakers with white socks.

01:21:49 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 3:

It reminds me of my dad. My dad used to wear dress socks with his gym shoes. And I was like, Dad, you can't wear that. And he'd have them all the way up and stuff. Yeah, exactly.

01:22:02 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 4:

You can't wear white abs.

01:22:03 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 3:

Kev's wearing Bermuda shorts, too, by the way. He's wearing pants. No, I know. I'm just kidding. Hold on. He let his arm hair grow. David, we're on the radio right now.

01:22:15 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 6:

Oh, dear.

01:22:16 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 3:

So, David, introduce yourself to everybody here.

01:22:20 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 6:

I'm David Crane. What else do you want to know? And tell everybody where you work. I work for Saks at the Avenue. I'm a personal shopper.

01:22:29 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 3:

He's a personal shopper. David, Kevin on our show is wearing black pants, okay, with black socks but white gym shoes. Is that a fashion faux pas?

01:22:46 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 6:

I probably wouldn't personally go in that direction. I'd probably stay away from the white gym shoe The black socks, black pants Okay, David He's failing to mention That it's not an all white shoe If he owns it And he feels good in it Then he wears it well

01:23:06 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 3:

The shoe is not all white David, it's horrible David, by the way David is who I bought my white pants from I've got my white pants My white jeans

01:23:15 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 2:

The city of Detroit, Toledo, and Grand Rapids are all waiting for the unveiling of these pants.

01:23:21 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 3:

David, will you and your husband come to our rooftop party so that we can do the big unveil of me in my white jeans?

01:23:28 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. How do I look, by the way?

01:23:30 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 3:

You're the only person that has seen me in my white jeans. How do I look?

01:23:33 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 6:

You look fantastic. See? The better question is how do you feel when you put them on? I feel fantastic. Right, right.

01:23:41 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 3:

That's the most important thing. I said to him, I go, oh, my God, I actually feel kind of skinny in these things. For some reason. But let's go back to Kevin because he's a problem.

01:23:49 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm just mad that you're making it seem like I got on white shoes and I don't have white shoes on. It's awful. It's more, Davey, these are Asics, Jill.

01:24:00 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 3:

It's so bad. You're frustrating. You are frustrating. It is so bad. David, I got to get the top from you this week, okay?

01:24:07 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 6:

Wait, you have to send me a picture of the black pants. Yes. Hold on. All right, give me a picture. Come on, I'm coming over.

01:24:12 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 3:

You should have said, David, I'm FaceTiming you. Pick up your FaceTime. Pick up your FaceTime. Come over here. Ready? Here we go. This is David, by the way. Say hi to David.

01:24:23 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 4:

Hold on a second. How are you doing? Let me do it.

01:24:30 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't have a shirt on?

01:24:32 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 3:

No, he looks good. Here we go, David. Look at this. Here we go. Look at this.

01:24:40 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 5:

Are these white shoes, David? I mean, that's a shoe you should be wearing in the gym Yeah I mean, these are my walk shoes

01:24:49 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 4:

The radio is gym Is it working or not working, baby?

01:24:55 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 3:

This is David, everybody Hi, David There's David right there Hold on, I'm showing you David, is it working or no? Wait, Mojo, you call me when I first get up in the morning. Are you crazy? Look at that.

01:25:06 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 2:

Is that awful? He said that's awful.

01:25:09 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 3:

I'm not super mad at it. What did he say?

01:25:11 - 01:25:11 | Unknown:

See?

01:25:11 - 01:25:15 | Speaker 1:

He's not super mad at it. Super mad. That means you're fine.

01:25:15 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 2:

David, we're going to...

01:25:17 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 1:

God, I look like a bum.

01:25:18 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, here you go. Yeah, tell everybody what you think of Shannon's outfit. What do you think of Shannon's outfit? There's Shannon's outfit. She got up on that chair.

01:25:25 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 3:

She's quick. Adorable.

01:25:27 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what about Megan? Where's Megan? Megan, come on, show everybody, Megan. The cardigan matched the strings.

01:25:30 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, hold on, hold on.

01:25:32 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 2:

Here's Megan. Wait, wait. Don't fall off the chair. Yeah. There's Megan.

01:25:36 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on. You got to see the shoe game. You got to see the shoes. I got you, I got you, I got you.

01:25:40 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 2:

All right, there's Megan. Oh, my God. Yo. Beautiful. All right, there you go. Thank you.

01:25:46 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's how you're making them do acrobats in the office.

01:25:48 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 2:

I know. These guys, by the way, they're going to pole dance for us in a couple minutes here, too. Who is they? All right, David, I'm going to call you. I'll call you after the show. I'll talk to you later.

01:25:56 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay, perfect.

01:25:57 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 2:

See you, buddy.

01:25:58 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 1:

You have a personal shopper.

01:26:00 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 2:

I got David.

01:26:03 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, is it just somebody that you just started talking to and didn't stop, so now you think it's your personal shopper?

01:26:07 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 2:

No, David called after we talked on the air. Chelsea said that all I wear is golf shirts all the time. So David called, reached out, and said that he wanted to help me so that I didn't know it. I went out and met him.

01:26:18 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 1:

That's so nice.

01:26:19 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 2:

And I'm not kidding you. He said I was wearing Kevin kind of clothes. Have you guys started shopping yet? Honestly, I just went to go see him to see if I can get white pants, and I got white jeans. What's going on? I want a shopper.

01:26:33 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 3:

I need help.

01:26:33 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'll go out with him. What's up, Billy?

01:26:36 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Okay. If you have a, you said Kevin's got a pair of black slacks.

01:26:40 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:26:40 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 3:

If you got a pair of black shorts and you have black ankle socks and white tennis shoes, how is that?

01:26:47 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 2:

It's better because they're ankle socks.

01:26:49 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That was my question.

01:26:51 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Don't you agree? You agree, right?

01:26:54 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I do agree.

01:26:55 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 2:

yeah what about what about you misty what's going on so i think you guys should just put socks should i give him my socks have you seen his big toe my ankles are my ankles his big toe hey can i can i be honest with you i'm i'm worried i might get herpes from his feet.

01:27:19 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 3:

They've done studies on his feet. So if my mom was to tell her, she would tell you both to wear white socks.

01:27:27 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

01:27:29 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 3:

Your mama's to tell you to get a better part.

01:27:34 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

If it's true that you are what you eat,

01:27:37 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 3:

Mojo must have been eating sexy

01:27:38 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 2:

beef this morning. Mojo in the morning show. second date update is coming up why you're not getting a call back we will find out keep listening for that and if you ever want to be on second date update you can text date to 95500 if you're trying to figure out why you're not getting a call back Shannon this happens to you anytime that you do this you left so early for something but then we're so late

01:28:10 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 1:

okay look I am directionally challenged okay I never know where i'm going where i'm supposed to be why am i like that um west and i are volunteering for i don't know if you guys have ever heard of this before but it's tim tebow's night to shine it's like a big prom like prom dance that he um it's basically a prom for special needs teenagers and it's a huge huge event and there's hundreds of people that are volunteering or attending and i am so super excited about this because i've been wanting to do it for a couple of years and this year i'm finally doing doing it so where is it at where's where's this one so it is going to be at emmanuel uh church and lutheran school over on the east side in the home okay because a buddy

01:28:52 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 2:

of mine chad is actually doing one in livonia at his church too i am so excited about this

01:28:57 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

so the the second wes and i are on the lead volunteer team okay so there are all of these meetings leading up to it the second meeting for the volunteer team leads was last night important part of the story i had to do the first one via facetime because i was super sick and i was in bed so that's how i did it so wes and i decided we were going to meet up there and he gave me instructions on exactly where to go in the building because i'm not super familiar with this building i'm just not super familiar with the east side in general and so he was he texted me park in the parking lot in the back and turn near the worship center across from the graveyard so i go to lutheran north high school where i think that this meeting is happening and i drive around and i do not see a graveyard and i've been there before i'm like i don't realize there was a graveyard there so i drive around again no graveyard i'm like what entrance is he talking about so i call him and he knows exactly why i'm calling yes is how he answers the phone i'm like dude, I don't see a graveyard or a worship center. Where in the heck am I?

01:30:00 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 4:

i supposed to go in and he's like you idiot you are at the wrong place you guys i was about 15 minutes away from where i was supposed to be and the worst part was like you said mojo i had left an hour early because i knew traffic was going to be bad on hall road and also i wanted to go through starbucks so you look like a real dumbass when you walk into a meeting 15 minutes late holding your starbucks right because everybody thinks that that's the reason you were late see

01:30:30 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 3:

you don't chug it in the car like i do anytime i'm running late and i stop somewhere with time and then i'm like i'm gonna be 15 minutes late you're like well this hot ass coffee is getting absolutely chugged right now because i wanted it for the meeting

01:30:42 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 2:

how do i go to the wrong freaking place do you not put everything in your uh calendar

01:30:50 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 4:

yes i do knowing your gps yes i do i was going to lutheran north high school you wrote the name down you didn't actually put the address it wasn't in my that the location wasn't in my calendar it just said it says ministry look i'm gonna show megan ministry room too yeah i don't know where that is yeah so i'm assuming it's at his kids high school where this is taking place but it's

01:31:12 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 3:

not yeah yeah i am dumb especially if it's a lutheran high school you would think oh there's

01:31:16 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 2:

like a ministry room there yeah it all made sense yeah the worst is when you uh you go to uh a high school too for an event you have to leave almost eight hours early because you never know which door to walk into and uh i had this happen to me when i went to waterford mott to go to mike porter's son's basketball game and i go to walk in and i walked in the door the furthest away from the uh gymnasium oh i hate that and i'm in the whole time i'm having to walk through like i had to walk that place has like a pool and yeah two girls two gyms and all this stuff it's like that place is like a a college campus and i'm the whole time that i'm there at the game i'm going crap i gotta walk all the way out to get to my car after this like i wanted to go drive my car and pull like pull further closer to it so i use my uh i use ways for everything chelsea thinks it's crazy but i use if i leave work i put ways on for my home address and i go because i get sometimes caught in traffic by an accident or something like that and chelsea thinks it's the stupidest thing ever that i do this that i use it for everything like i don't care where i'm going i could be going to the the you know i don't know the the cleaners i don't know i never go to the cleaners i was looking for a place to go to where am i going i could be going to the strip club and I know where the strip club is. Do I sound cooler?

01:32:41 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 1:

Why is Waze better than Google Maps or even Apple Maps?

01:32:44 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, it makes no difference. Whatever. I don't never use Apple Maps. Apple Maps is the worst because they never give you the accents.

01:32:52 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 3:

Wrong. Absolutely wrong. Apple Maps is superior and it gives you all the cop locations too. Really? It does. It does say speed. So accurate. It says speed. Check ahead.

01:33:00 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 2:

Then you must have an updated version.

01:33:02 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 3:

It sucks. I do like it.

01:33:03 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 1:

That's why I use Waze. Yeah, Waze. They're so accurate with where the police traps are. There's a, you know.

01:33:08 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 2:

And I don't know if you are, Kevin, but I am a I am a ways where I don't know what it is, but I get like way points. Right. I will note when they say, is car still there? Like, you know, whatever. Or if the police officer, police officers are still there. I answer them right away and they give me points on that.

01:33:26 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm with you. What do you use points for? I'm a Wazer. You just do it. Like a reward.

01:33:32 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

I am. I am one of their free coffee or something. I'm one of their frequent reporters. I report, too. Do you have, like, a little cartoon? Hey, we all have our jobs. Okay? We all have our jobs. Some of us... No, no, no. Some of us care more than others do.

01:33:44 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 4:

I wish you could see his face because he's so excited about this.

01:33:48 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 2:

That's serious. I'm telling you, you guys are the people that are in America that would not, you know, stand up for others. Kevin and I stand up for those in traffic.

01:33:58 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 4:

We're on the front lines. By the way, the same thing happens on maps. Yeah. It says, is this incident still there? Do you guys just look at it? No. It depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes I click the opposite. No, it's not there. It is there. But I'm annoyed that this little thing popped up on my screen. So I do the opposite.

01:34:18 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 1:

Google Maps is the same thing, but there's no rewards. I kind of do like the rewards.

01:34:22 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 3:

It's fun. There's no rewards, Mike. It's just fake points. Whose line is it anyway? The points don't matter. I think you get a crown. Oh, wow.

01:34:31 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 2:

I'm proud of that. And I don't know. Hey, Mike, let me equate it to this. Okay. Google Maps and Apple Maps compared to Waze is like going to Qdoba compared to going to Chipotle.

01:34:47 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 3:

No, Waze is the Android. How dare you? I do have a question. I never use Waze, but I do hear great things about it. Will it tell you how long the backup is? Because the nice thing about Apple Maps, it'll be like... an accident the backup will take you seven minutes to get through uh mine does a the thing where it

01:35:05 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 5:

has it shows a red line on it and then we'll save the minutes the amount of minutes oh that's nice

01:35:09 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 6:

okay can you also control like your music through apple maps uh because you can't do ways why am i going to control my music through ways i'm going to turn up the value myself i mean like you can change the song through ways yeah like it'll show you the it'll display the song title the name and

01:35:24 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 2:

give you the options to pause go back or to be honest i have an apple watch so my navigation always just comes through my watch so if i need to change the song oh so you're a distracted

01:35:32 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 6:

driver wait wait so you can do it i have my voice i have my voice on the lady tells me which way to go i can say hey siri play the next song hey google maps hooks up to your spotify playlists

01:35:46 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 5:

and everything okay can you can you get free mcdonald's double quarter pounders with cheese and french fries with your google maps and maps I don't think so

01:36:00 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 8:

you can't do that with ways either

01:36:02 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 5:

no you can't I was going to try to see if there's something else can you get road head

01:36:10 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 4:

I signed it up now I signed it up now Tina what's up

01:36:16 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 5:

hey how are you

01:36:19 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 4:

first time caller I drive all day every day Freaking love Wendy I call her Wendy Wait

01:36:34 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh you don't call her Waze That's funny so it's Wendy

01:36:40 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah she's very nice She lets me know what's going on I also have a crown Kevin my report so the points do matter yes these guys get none of that

01:36:55 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 6:

and you can plan a drive did you know that you can plan a drive

01:37:00 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

you can do the same thing on Apple

01:37:01 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 3:

no I did not know that okay wait can I ask a question about ways I actually just found this out yesterday so I live in downtown Detroit now and I was trying to go to the secretary of state and it would give me routes that were driving, biking Taking a queue Taking a bus If you're in New York City It tells you exactly which subway It tells you the bus number

01:37:25 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 6:

You ready to have your bubble burst? I bet you Jennifer Hudson can't be your voice Direction voice

01:37:33 - 01:37:34 | Speaker 3:

I turn the voices off anyway

01:37:34 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 6:

What if you could have Jennifer Hudson telling you where to go? And by the way

01:37:37 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 5:

To go back to Megan Megan, I don't take public transportation I have my own car What about Christina Aguilera?

01:37:47 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 1:

What? That's random. Some of us park in a parking garage where if there's anything going on downtown, you're not going to get your spot back. So you can't drive everywhere.

01:37:56 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Misfit Victor wants to make a comment on this. What is your favorite?

01:38:01 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 8:

Good morning, guys. I use Waze, as we call it. Waze. So fancy. The best thing about Waze is, and Mojo, you remember this when I drove to the airport one time. You can record voices. So, my kids are giving me all those turn-by-turn directions. No way.

01:38:19 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 6:

I did not know that. That was a little weird, by the way. That's very cute. I like that. Wait, really?

01:38:24 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. He does. He has his kids.

01:38:27 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. So, it's like I'll be driving and my son will be like, oh, spit, accident reported ahead.

01:38:33 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 6:

I got to figure out how to do that.

01:38:36 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 1:

Mojo. Mojo. Mojo.

01:38:37 - 01:38:39 | Unknown:

Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo.

01:38:39 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 4:

Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo.

01:38:43 - 01:38:46 | Unknown:

Mojo. Three, two, one, one, one, one, one, one.

01:38:46 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 6:

Admission sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:38:50 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 5:

All right, you ready?

01:38:52 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 6:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:54 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:38:55 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 8:

let's go it's the second date update on mojo in the morning second date update why are you not

01:39:05 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 5:

getting a call back after you went on a date we're gonna find out for nolan this morning who is getting ghosted nolan what's going on good morning how are you hello morning how are you nolan so nolan you're not hearing back from a girl that you met how did you guys meet

01:39:23 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 7:

uh so we've been on tinder swiping okay and uh yeah i go for it no and what was what's been

01:39:33 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 5:

your relationship you guys uh gone out on dates with each other you guys just talking to each

01:39:38 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 7:

other no like traditional dates it definitely was what you know i think tinder was set up to be we're trying to just hook up um but then i accidentally started to really like her so So I was like, all right, let's keep doing this. Let's go out again. And I got to go out with me again the same week. And I was like, okay, this is going in a good direction. So, you know, we've been seeing each other.

01:40:00 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 4:

now for four weeks.

01:40:01 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 6:

All right. And now all of a sudden, after four weeks of seeing each other, she is nowhere to be found and you're wondering what's going on.

01:40:10 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So blown ghosting.

01:40:13 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 6:

We're going to find out.

01:40:14 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I want to do more than hook up. You know, I don't want her seeing anybody else and she's not answering my snaps like ever since Christmas.

01:40:22 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 6:

All right. Well, we got her on the phone with us right now. Her name is Lena. Lena, are you okay with your voice on the radio? uh yeah sure lena could you hear nolan on hold sometimes we have certain lines that don't have

01:40:36 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 3:

the holds on yeah yeah i heard him okay will you say hello to nolan hi nolan hey

01:40:47 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 4:

by not answering my snaps?

01:40:53 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I'm not. I don't, this is so weird. Oh my God.

01:41:02 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 6:

We kind of caught you off guard a little bit. Yeah, well, it's, you know, it's early and it's also weird that we're, here we are contacting for Nolan.

01:41:12 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 1:

But obviously there's a reason because you are acknowledging that you have an answer to snaps.

01:41:17 - 01:41:35 | Speaker 3:

yeah i haven't um i don't i i don't know we're just i mean look we definitely have sexual chemistry but i just i feel like i need more than that you know what do you mean i'm sorry

01:41:35 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 6:

you you have sexual chemistry but you need more than that are you's your relationship only been

01:41:40 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 3:

about sex yeah i mean we we met on tinder and you know we've hooked up a couple times and it is it's great we have sexual chemistry but then i mean we don't even go on dates and we lay in bed all the time and that's kind of it and i don't know i just need somebody who matches my vibe so wait so so

01:42:05 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 6:

your guys's dates the dates that nolan said you guys have gone on a couple of times have been what just going to either either your house or his house and yeah they were just hookup so you're

01:42:17 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 3:

just hooking up with each other yeah they weren't dates i mean i don't even have his i don't even

01:42:22 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 6:

have his number well then how do you communicate with him if you don't have his number on on

01:42:27 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 3:

on snapchat and i don't know i mean snapchat is it's cool it's fine but it also like that feels

01:42:33 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 6:

like a red flag wait why nolan why do you why did you guys not share your numbers with each other

01:42:39 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 4:

i mean snapchat i feel like is a you know the next step after tinder it's kind of like all right

01:42:47 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 6:

that's the next level okay so you guys are at time once you see a naked body don't you move

01:42:53 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 5:

up to phone numbers i feel like i mean notification is a notification yeah yeah i mean i like i like

01:43:00 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 4:

communicating you know with the photo it's a little more personal i feel like it's better than texting and you know that it also usually leads to us linking up to you know hang out no

01:43:11 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 2:

and i'm not gonna lie i like your excuses but if you had a phone number you could facetime so if you really want to see your face you could do that it just seems very sketchy that you only

01:43:20 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 1:

want to communicate on a means where it is erased all but also because you said that you want a relationship with her you want to actually date her you want to be like you said you only want to date her but i feel like your behavior like your actions show otherwise you guys want the same thing she said she wants more than to just hook up with you so there's where's the

01:43:43 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 4:

miscommunication i mean if she wants my phone number she can have my phone number anytime she asked for it she's never asked for it i just i'm right here you um that is that i'll snapchat you my phone number

01:43:58 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 6:

lena though that is that is actually a really good point if you wanted the phone number why didn't you say hey let's call each other was it his responsibility to say here's my phone number

01:44:11 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 3:

i mean was it his responsibility no did it seem like this is all that it was and that it was gonna run its course yeah so i let it run its course well that's the same logic with the dating

01:44:26 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 5:

thing about you waiting around for him to ask for the phone number like have you made mention that you wanted something more than a hookup are y'all meeting at the same place at the same time

01:44:36 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 3:

no i mean i don't know i guess i i mean the chemistry's there i just don't i don't know we but we don't really talk about anything like it's like well now we're talking about

01:44:52 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 6:

so nolan you haven't offered more than just sex like you got in i don't

01:45:00 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 2:

you fully for this i think that lena's got to be a little bit more vocal about what she's hoping for and also maybe not just go for sex each time i don't know i just think that both you guys if you guys want something more then just don't stop calling him like just say hey listen i want more than this and i get sometimes that's the hardest part to do but god why is it on her if he's not offering anything and she's the one that left it's not well it's it's on both of them but i will say this she's the one that that's what she wanted maybe he doesn't maybe he is miss got miscues from her that all she wanted was to to have sex if i was if and i'm not on snapchat but if i was on snapchat i would think that that was all we're doing is just you know we're just f buddies you know and we're just doing that snapchat doesn't scream relationship serious to me although some people may be screaming at their radios right now saying different call us 844 mojo live 844-665-6548. Hunter, let's get some comments from listeners. What's going on, Hunter? What are your thoughts?

01:46:03 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 4:

I kind of agree with what somebody said about the whole Snapchat and the photo thing, because I get the point with FaceTime, but with FaceTime, I feel like I can't do anything else whilst I'm on the phone. I feel like I have to pay attention completely, and like Snapchat...

01:46:18 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 5:

Throw out the FaceTime comment. You guys could text.

01:46:23 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 4:

That's Snapchat. You could send a text to, you know, still be doing stuff and when i'm on facetime i feel like my attention has to be with that person otherwise it's rude and that's just kind of personal like kind of opinion but you know

01:46:38 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 1:

that's just kind of how i feel but if you wanted to date somebody would you only exclusively talk to them via snapchat no you know that's the point we're getting hooked up on facetime but then my

01:46:52 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 4:

girlfriend on hinge and you know we started on snapchat and then eventually we wanted to you know hey let's talk on day 10 so we can get a little bit more familiar with each other and then like we went on and then it goes yeah so we had already had each other's numbers but megan is it

01:47:08 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 2:

on is it on nolan to be the one to say this is what i want next she should have just said it to

01:47:13 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 1:

him this is what i want for leaving because she's not interested because he didn't i'm blaming her

01:47:18 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 2:

for if she wanted more and wanted more of a relationship, tell him.

01:47:22 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 1:

Just say something. She's not the one reaching out to us saying, I got ghosted, what am I going to do? He did. He dropped the ball. She said, I wanted more. You weren't offering what I was interested in. I've moved on. Brandy, what's up?

01:47:34 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 2:

Your thoughts?

01:47:36 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 1:

Hey, y'all. Have a good day.

01:47:37 - 01:47:39 | Speaker 5:

Hey, y'all. Good morning.

01:47:39 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

Where are you at? Are you working and doing this?

01:47:42 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 5:

I'm at Myer. No, I'm leaving Myer. I just dropped my baby off at school. I think that they would be okay, though. But I think that they just need to work on communication. It sounds like it's the biggest problem here. It sounds like he wants what she wants. Exactly. But she's not being vocal about it. And he's not being more dominant and aggressive about it. It sounds like she kind of wants...

01:48:03 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he said it right before we picked her up. That's what he said. He said he wanted more. Yeah, no, no, no, you're right. It was exactly what he wants. He wants more. What's up, Danny?

01:48:14 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning, Mojo.

01:48:15 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. What's going on?

01:48:16 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I might be old-fashioned, but listen to the females on your show. They're all telling him, basically, take charge. Like, I don't know, what happened to men these days? You know, like, he's basically telling him, hey, you know, we did hook up. Now, let's move on to the next level. And this guy's talking Snapchat. Bro, grow up.

01:48:35 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well.

01:48:36 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 1:

Wow, thanks. Listen. Ding, ding, ding. I thought that was going in every direction.

01:48:42 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 2:

We got strong, vibrant women on this radio show. listen i i will say this though i disagree completely with the women on the show megan specifically that the guy if he wanted more he should have said more how do you disagree with that well no i'm saying i disagree with megan saying that i'm just not going to call him anymore why not why why ruining what could be a good relationship if if she likes him and enjoyed being with him why not say hey is it his responsibility to say here's my phone number

01:49:16 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 1:

She said they had sexual chemistry, not that she was into him or liked him, liked him. You can be sexually attracted to somebody or very compatible in the bedroom, but not want to date or like the person themselves. Maybe that was the case. Maybe they were having a lot of fun at night, and then it sucked during the day when he wasn't communicating.

01:49:38 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

Were you guys communicating during the day, or were you just talking on Snapchat? A couple times. Just Snapchat. okay it's hard to take it serious with a puppy filter on like yeah i also think everybody and

01:49:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

i include myself in this because this is something that constantly comes up in my relationship but like if you want something you have to be very clear and ask for it the real

01:50:00 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 5:

Risk of making an assumption that the other person can read your mind, it never works out well. Whitney says exactly.

01:50:06 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 4:

You can't hold people to certain standards that you don't communicate. Right, right.

01:50:09 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 5:

But I feel like if you want someone, you want someone. So if the guy is not reaching out and planning actual dates and doing stuff with you and wanting to have another way of communicating with you, shouldn't they do it? Like, why should she have to ask him?

01:50:22 - 01:50:28 | Speaker 4:

He's doing it right now. He's calling us up. He says he still wants a relationship with her. I don't know. Whitney, what's up? What were you going to say, Whitney?

01:50:30 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I basically agree with the women. I mean, I hate to say it, not to sound tight sexist, but it's the same way he called you guys. Why didn't he be more aggressive with her and be like, well, what's your number? Let's go on a date. Let's see what's going on. Like, we expect that from the man a lot of times. What were you doing, Nolan?

01:50:50 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 4:

What were you doing, Nolan? Were you trying to get her on Snapchat and you couldn't get a hold of her? Yeah. She blocked you on Snapchat.

01:50:58 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 3:

Opening my stuff without getting back.

01:51:00 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 4:

Did you ever ask for her phone number?

01:51:04 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, if you're not going to get back to me on Snapchat,

01:51:07 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 2:

why am I going to get back to you? Well, you big dummy, you should ask for her phone number. I'm just trying to smash. He only wanted to hook up.

01:51:14 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 3:

That's how it started. Exactly. I wanted to only hook up. That was the landscape. I started catching some feels.

01:51:19 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 1:

It's weird that he started catching feels as soon as she stopped sleeping with you.

01:51:23 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 3:

He had withdrawals.

01:51:25 - 01:51:29 | Speaker 1:

Which says to me, he doesn't want a relationship. He wants her back in bed.

01:51:30 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 2:

I don't believe he ever really wanted more. He's just saying he wants more now because if he's on the radio

01:51:37 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 4:

You guys hear a voice? Are you hearing a voice? I don't want to say I'm hearing a voice. By the way, somebody just said that he's just a bed rat. I like that.

01:51:45 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 2:

Everybody is saying Snapchat is just hookup behavior.

01:51:48 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 4:

Done. No second date. Actually, it would be a first date.

01:52:00 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:52:02 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 4:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. I went to dinner last night with our doc, our official show gynecologist, Dr. Mark Warner. What's he doing? We went to dinner. What is he doing? He's looking at a... Oh, he's doing great. I was going to say, what's he doing? He's looking at a lot of vaginas. Oh. Vagina. Yes. Glad to hear it. And he's looked at a couple of non-vaginas, too, like myself. But he's great. He's such an awesome guy. which is so funny because he like he introduces me to people he goes this is mojo i want you to be mojo he's like introducing everybody he's like you know what he's like he's like um he's like a great wingman or what is it called in entertainment where you have somebody that kind of like your hype man he's like my hype man yeah when we go out but he's also a pain in the ass to go out with and don't be offended by this mark but i have to eat really healthy when i'm around him i have to like be very careful about what i eat because the guy eats nothing but like salmon or white fish with no butter like you can't have butter on it uh salad with not no uh you know ranch dressing no he doesn't allow you to eat whites so there's no whites no mayonnaise no ranch no blue cheese anything that you dip into has to be cocktail sauce or sometimes barbecue sauce if it doesn't have too much sugar like i have to watch out about what i eat and it got me to a point has anybody ever done this before is there anybody listening who's ever had to eat before they go to eat or eaten after they've gone out to eat because you had to hide the food from the person that you're going out with like maybe a date have you ever done that on a date oh yeah like i ordered just a salad i ordered so i ordered salmon last night we went to this place called west end which actually is a really wanting to try that it's really good it's in west bloomfield they were The service was great. This girl that we had as our server was an awesome girl. She was really cool. We're eating, and I'm like, for the appetizer, they're like, oh, we've got great appetizers. I'm looking at these appetizers, like steak bites and all this stuff. We'll take the hummus with vegetables. We're eating that, and I was literally eating every vegetable in the world because I knew I was going to be hungry. Then I'm like, okay, I'll take the salmon. I'm going to get the salmon. It comes with what? couscous and mashed potatoes and all this stuff and I'm like I'll take the vegetables I'll have broccolini it's not even broccoli, it's leany

01:54:26 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 1:

you gotta cut off that big stem

01:54:28 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 4:

that's how skinny it is, it's leany so I'm having to eat this way in front of him because I don't want, you know, he's got me on that that shot too so you know, Dr. Warner's been I've lost 45 pounds by the way

01:54:41 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 1:

thank you, yes

01:54:44 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

i i i've been i've done well with the damn thing thank you i appreciate that i i do have any idea how heavy you are i but i'm not doing that but i know so so i'm sitting here i'm behaving myself but when i got home because

01:55:00 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea was home, and she didn't come with her because we just did a guy's night. And she goes, how was everything? And I said, great. And as I opened the refrigerator, she goes, what are you going to the refrigerator for? I'm like, food. Starving. Have you ever had that at all? Did you ever have a date or anybody that you were too worried being in front of?

01:55:19 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I eat. I really don't care. But I do that a lot, and I feel like moms can relate. I do that with the kids because my kids are so damn picky. so I usually will feed them before we go somewhere. If we're going to someone's house I know they're not going to like their food. I'd rather them not comment on not liking the food so I throw in some mac and cheese into the microwave, make sure their tummies are somewhat full and then we're good to go. So I

01:55:42 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 4:

dated a guy who thought he could cook and would invite me over to his place all the time to cook for me and it was inedible. Everything was disgusting. So you like pick at it and you're like, oh thanks, I'm just not that hungry today and every time on the way home i'm like give me some nuggets give me some french

01:55:59 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 1:

fries i'm starving i wanted taco bell so bad i'm driving home i'm going you know what the problem was i was driving down pontiac trail there's no fast food places along the way sam what's going

01:56:09 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 3:

on it's mojo in the morning how are you hey mojo i just want to say congrats on losing the weight

01:56:14 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 1:

and congrats on not finishing your plate oh you know what i seriously i i i do listen i do get full fast but you know what's funny when you order crap like salmon you don't want to eat it all because it sucks you know what i mean like if you if you if i ordered like a filet or a new york strip steak i would have sucked down every last bit of that thing i would have eaten the grizzle that was on the table like that's how much but you know that's what the case do you have you ever been out to eat at all with anybody that judges you're eating oh yeah who's like hey i enjoy food with my dad. Your dad is that way? My dad was like that too. What would your dad

01:56:54 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 3:

say to you? Well, just like you know, maybe you should pick veggies over french fries or something. It's like, nope, I'm going to get my french fries because you only live one. Yellow.

01:57:05 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 1:

My dad used to get upset because when I was like five and six years old, I wouldn't order off the kids menu. Have you guys ever eaten a T-bone steak before? I don't even think they sell them. but T-bone steak is the filet and the strip together and the waiter would get around to me at the end and I would go, I'll take a T-bone and I was like five years old and my dad would go to my mom like, he's doing what? Or we used to leave a restaurant there was a place called Daniel's that was by our house it was like a family restaurant like one of those Greek, you know, conies and we would leave there and there was a Kentucky fried chicken across the street and I used to go, mom, chicken licking and she'd go, what? I go, let's get chicken licking. And my dad would go, we just ate. What's up, Devin? Hi, Devin. Hey, how's it going? Good. By the way, you locked every car door. You even turned the alarm on. Now you're getting out again. What's going on?

01:58:05 - 01:58:08 | Speaker 5:

I know. I know. I'm trying to minimize the noise, but it's not working.

01:58:08 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 1:

No, it's all right. What's happening?

01:58:11 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I was just sharing that after every date, I swear I have to eat every time because, you know, I save my leftovers, so I don't look like I'm eating all the food because they don't eat all their food and then as soon as i get in the car eat it in the car let me let

01:58:25 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 1:

me ask you a question if after the date's over with and you have your leftovers with you she wanted to go home and have wild passionate sex would you rather or would you rather eat that leftovers that you have a question oh that was a tough question but i'm always starving hey can we take a long way can you drive follow me so i don't have to drive you back so you can eat it in the car ride on the way back.

01:58:50 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, exactly. He was on the way home.

01:58:54 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 1:

You even kind of have that huskier laugh. I love that laugh.

01:58:59 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 5:

I'm a first time in a long time. Oh, hey, hey. All right.

01:59:04 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 1:

We love you, buddy. Thank you so much for calling. We appreciate it. And then the goodbye with Dr. Warner is always a good one, too, because Dr. Warner takes a bit to say goodbye but uh and i gotta shout out can i shout out dr warner's daughter nikki nikki just started she moved to grand rapids hey if you are somebody that's in grand rapids she's a gorgeous absolutely stunningly beautiful uh 21 year old i think you know she's like 21 years old okay single guys in grand rapids huh she's gonna text you and be like yes zach i'm gonna tell you something this this girl is absolutely a stunner so we said goodbye to her because she was going to move out to grand rapids uh where she is going to be an occupational therapist yeah and living in downtown grand rapids so yeah he's very very proud of her so all right we'll be right back don't go anywhere Listen to Mojo, so he can pay to put food on his table. He would look weird as a skinny guy, so help him out. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have our very own Lydia back with us. She took time off. Come on in, Lydia. By the way, I miss you. Miss you, miss you.

02:00:20 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 3:

Was that bad? Yeah, it wasn't bad. No, he wasn't the only one who reached out.

02:00:24 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 1:

Was it that bad, meaning was the show that bad for the four days, is that what you're saying? Or what do you mean? No, that was great. The shows were good. The shows were good.

02:00:33 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 3:

I had to decline some calls that I didn't feel were as important.

02:00:38 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 1:

The vibe with Lydia on the phones and the listeners, I felt like, is never the same. Even KP and I were talking about this. KP said, I never realize how good Lydia is until I'm sitting behind that desk. There's 8,000 text messages coming in with comments and there's phones ringing.

02:00:57 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 2:

She said she doesn't know how you call texters at the same time as you're answering calls.

02:01:03 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 3:

It's kind of a strategy, but it's hard to do at first. And if you haven't done it for a while, it takes some time.

02:01:09 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It is legit one of the hardest things that is done here on the show. And some people think that, you know, everybody's got different roles on the show. And listen, we all have roles for a reason, right? And we all do a great job with it. And when somebody is missing, even Kev being missing this morning and KP being missing this morning too, yeah, there's not the same vibe. But it's one of those things when we are all together and the whole orchestra is performing, there's just something about that performance that is going on. Look at this. The phone's ringing without you answering it right now, and I'm not even picking it up blindly like I was doing the other day.

02:01:45 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 3:

You did that sometimes when, I mean, you have done that when I'm answering.

02:01:49 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo.

02:01:50 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there it is.

02:01:52 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 1:

I give, Lydia gets so mad when I do that, when I'll randomly just pick up lines because it's, you know what it's like? It's like if you are a, I don't know, a chef, me pushing you out of the way and making my own food.

02:02:07 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. You get lucky though. Nine times out of 10, it's a good call. That is true.

02:02:12 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 1:

Because we have good callers. But there are times where the one out of 10 is going to come. All right. So we got to talk to Lydia. First off, what did you do while you were off?

02:02:23 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 3:

I relaxed. I redid my room a little bit, did some organizing. But I also drove to Ohio for a night to see some friends who live in Cincinnati.

02:02:32 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm fine.

02:02:33 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 3:

Say it right. Cincinnati. Thank you. We got drunk, had some espresso martinis, but I only stayed for like a day. And during my time in Ohio, I noticed I was getting a rash up my leg.

02:02:49 - 02:02:49 | Unknown:

Oh, boy.

02:02:49 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 3:

And it looks like there are bumps from my ankle up to my thigh. Have you seen it, Megan? No. I'll have to send you some photos. It's pretty bad.

02:03:00 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 2:

It's nasty looking. Yeah. It is. No, it really is. I'm not joking.

02:03:03 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 3:

At first I thought it was razor burn, but now it's like going completely up my leg. Now I went to go see Dr. Warner and he recommended me go to a dermatologist. And this dermatologist looked at my leg and was like, in my 20 years of practice, I've never seen anything like that before. So I went to a different derm, and they can't figure out what's wrong with me either.

02:03:22 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 2:

So I've been using cream. I just texted my friend. His partner said he's waking up in about an hour and a half.

02:03:28 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you?

02:03:29 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 2:

He's a dermatologist as well.

02:03:30 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 1:

But can I tell you what's going around? Because one of my family members, they're saying that there's a Lyme disease going on, and there's an issue with the... The ticks? There's some kind of a Lyme disease, and then there also is something with the cicadas and these bugs that were here this summer.

02:03:47 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 3:

What's a Lyme disease? wouldn't it hurt because these don't hurt they just itch a little bit isn't monkey pox very oh

02:03:52 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 1:

well that's not that oh my god you guys wait hold on let's google monkey pox and see what monkey pox

02:03:57 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

looks like no i'm gonna send you a picture am i gonna i don't want to show you this i'll be honest why is it i'm so embarrassed don't send her a picture just pull up your jeans actually to be

02:04:05 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 1:

honest with you do me a favor can you go in the other room okay it does not look like a lung disease rash at all okay here's my here's monkey pox that's what monkey look don't ever google

02:04:13 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 3:

things yeah did it really bad do they look like it feels like any specialist i go to doesn't know what's going on with me i'm getting does it look like that i don't know oh my god hard to tell it does look like that it does i don't know i didn't get to

02:04:31 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 1:

see no i said here here i said does it look like that look at look at that one look look look look

02:04:36 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 2:

Um, yeah, kind of similar, but those are bigger blisters. Oh, no, these are bigger blisters. Yours are teeny tiny.

02:04:43 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 3:

Like, these are, yeah, they're tiny, but they're everywhere.

02:04:45 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 1:

It looks like you have another nipple.

02:04:47 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 3:

And I'm, honestly, but look at that one. I was bawling my eyes out because I'm like, what if I'm stuck with this for life or it goes up my whole body? Did you go to, like, a beach or anything? No. I haven't went swimming. I haven't been since I went to Cancun.

02:04:58 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I'm telling you, prednisone is amazing. Is monkeypox contagious?

02:05:03 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it's super contagious. Oh, my God, you guys. Is there other symptoms to that?

02:05:08 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 2:

M-Pox is contagious. You can spread from person to person. It can spread through close contact with the infected person's skin lesions or scabs, body fluids, and contaminated materials.

02:05:23 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't really say legs, though.

02:05:24 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

02:05:26 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 1:

But I don't have flu legs.

02:05:27 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 6:

It's mostly near the genitals or hands.

02:05:28 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Are these genitals or hands?

02:05:31 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:05:32 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second.

02:05:33 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 1:

You have flu-like symptoms? No.

02:05:35 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 2:

What did you want to say, Brianna?

02:05:37 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 1:

I was just saying, Lydia was dearly missed.

02:05:40 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 2:

Yes, she was.

02:05:41 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 1:

When she was on vacation. We're about to send her right back home.

02:05:44 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 2:

Although, she's got monkey pox. I don't know.

02:05:46 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 4:

Dear God, please.

02:05:47 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's got to get sort of out.

02:05:50 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:05:50 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 3:

But you are still there.

02:05:51 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:05:52 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

02:05:52 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 2:

Be careful, by the way. Don't touch your radio. You can catch it from the radio. David, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

02:06:02 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 5:

Is it a red rash?

02:06:03 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not red. They're like skin light.

02:06:06 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 5:

They look up Disney rash.

02:06:07 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:06:08 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 2:

What's the rash?

02:06:10 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 5:

Disney rash. Disney? Disney rash. We're giving away Disney trips.

02:06:14 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Maybe that's the problem.

02:06:15 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I got too excited.

02:06:16 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, rash like your thighs are rubbing together and they, because you're walking so much?

02:06:22 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 5:

Your muscles are being overdone and you're walking so much. It's called Disney rash. I'm walking around like Walt Disney World or going to a theme park or something. And I had it a while back. All the dermatologists were like, I don't know what it is. Then someone said Disney rash. We Googled it, and that's what it was.

02:06:35 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 4:

And what did you do for that? It's just like a contact dermatitis.

02:06:37 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 5:

You just relax, and you don't do nothing because it's just an overstrain of your skin and muscle because it's not used to doing all that exercise and stuff.

02:06:46 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 2:

That's what happens to me when I do a long walk or something with Chelsea. I get a Disney rash from not being used to being off the couch. Sean, are you there?

02:06:59 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:07:00 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 2:

Hi, John. What's going on?

02:07:03 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 6:

When I was in the Marines back, you know, in 1980-something, we did an exercise on a beach in the Philippines, and we caught something called, I caught something called herpes zostra.

02:07:16 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:07:16 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 6:

And what it is, it's, you get this rash, but it only affects one part of your body at a time. It looked like I had a vest on like one half of my chest. It went around from the center of my chest all the way to the right side to the center of my back.

02:07:32 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 1:

If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure she has the herps.

02:07:36 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Okay.

02:07:38 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, okay, any type of rash is actually considered...

02:07:40 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 2:

This is worse, by the way. Opening up our phone lines is worse than going to the Internet to do this.

02:07:47 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 4:

I'm just Google imaging everything.

02:07:48 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for your service. Ryan, hi. How are you?

02:07:52 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 4:

That's the rash.

02:07:53 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm great. How are you?

02:07:54 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 2:

Good. I just want you to know that Lydia has to cancel all of her dates for this weekend. No partying with any girls, her Caldean friends or any guys that she might go on a date with. She's got something.

02:08:07 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 1:

She's contagious. She needs to quarantine. Should we quarantine? Not contagious. Should we put her in

02:08:12 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 2:

another room, put her in her studio room and just lock that door? Three doctors

02:08:17 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 4:

said it was not contagious, no matter what it was. What if they don't know what it is? How do you know? Megan's, like, She literally moved her chair away. Yes, I did. I'm not going to give you monkeypox herpes. Okay. But what if bed bug bites, dude? This is not bed bug bites. That's not bed bug bites. What if other people in my house get that?

02:08:37 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 2:

I know what that looks like. Carolyn, what's going on? We're wondering about Lydia. She came back to give us all an infection.

02:08:45 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

No, she's fine. It usually happens to me when I'm really stressed out. I'm allergic to a lot of outdoor, like trees, grass, stuff. And usually an allergy pill really helps to take the itch away. If they, like, well tough when you itch, then they're just high.

02:09:04 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting because she did have a very stressful last week planning our podcast live, so I don't know. I could be spurred on that. It's a very good point.

02:09:13 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 3:

Let's see what happens.

02:09:15 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Kate, what do you think it is?

02:09:17 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 3:

So 10 years ago, I got scabies, and it's known as the seven-year itch. and it's the exact same bumps and symptoms that lydia is describing so we google searched

02:09:29 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 2:

scabies it does not look like that at all seven year itch by the way okay that sounds like what

02:09:33 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 3:

people get in their marriage it was it was terrible i had to put a cream on for 24 hours and literally lay there with this oh gosh and it was the most terrible experience of my life i

02:09:43 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 2:

wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy that does not sound fun i am going to do this i'm going to say Lydia, can you just go in the other room, please?

02:09:54 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Megan is so mad. I mean, I also have to disinfect Kevin's chair because if he hears this topic, he knows I was saying that. No, no.

02:10:00 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 1:

Don't tell him. So wait, you do think you need to disinfect the chair, but you think I'm being dramatic from scooting away from you. I do think you're being dramatic scooting away from me, but also Kev is dramatic about his chair. He doesn't even like my shoes at the edge of it.

02:10:10 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm putting back on my COVID mask. I don't want to catch this. All right. Well, why do I have sympathetic itching going on right now? Does it ever have that when somebody tells you this? My gosh. What if we all have to quarantine now because Lydia just came in? That ruins our entire weekend. Sorry, we're still Google searching. The only good thing is that we don't have to do the Channel 955 ice cream truck this weekend. Free herpes.

02:10:39 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 2:

If you were born in September, your parents started the new year with a bang. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:47 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 3:

I hope Megan doesn't embarrass herself by bringing this up in front of guests that we have in studio, but you know you're old when, and Megan's got a good one for us. Megan, you know you're old when.

02:11:00 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 6:

I regularly consume an absolutely obscene amount of Metamucil, and it doesn't matter. Oh, yeah. I need some today. I am a Metamucil girly. Put me on the face of a bottle, name a brand after me. Please. I take so much of it, it's not even funny.

02:11:16 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 3:

Do you do the pre-mix orangey thing in the water?

02:11:19 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 6:

I can't do the pre-mix. The pre-mix is like, okay, do you remember in Ghostbusters, there was a pink slime that came out of the bathtub faucet when she was running? The bath for a baby. Since then, thick water has always scared the absolute bejesus out of me. And the fact that Metamucil is just thick water scares the crap out of me. I think I'm going to be taken over by a ghost. I can't do it. Can't do it.

02:11:43 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 3:

Do you do the cakes then? There's cakes? Yeah, they have little, not cakes.

02:11:47 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 4:

They're crackers. They're like biscuits.

02:11:49 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 3:

But they call them cakes or something.

02:11:51 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 4:

I have the gummies. I have the gummies. I have the gummies. It gets hard very quickly.

02:11:55 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 6:

Yes, you have to drink so much water with them. And they don't work. And I don't understand why everybody swears by these because I've consumed so much Metamucil and it doesn't work. Make a duty.

02:12:05 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Just so you know, it's not just for old people. Remember, we talked to my son, Joe, who's mid-20s, and Joe is obsessed with Metamucil.

02:12:14 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 6:

Listen, it's not for old people, but you feel real old when you buy it for the first time. You're like, this is a new stage of life that I was not looking forward to.

02:12:23 - 02:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's in the old people aisle at Walgreens and CVS. it's next to the adult diapers yes like why do they why do they do that to you it's crazy so how many times a day if you don't mind me asking how many times a day are you going are

02:12:39 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 4:

you regular am i going to the bathroom or taking metamucil now how many times a day are you going to the bathroom why do i know this i know the answer to this question what is the answer you

02:12:48 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 3:

have not gone in four days four days wow four days you haven't gone in four days no and then i i go

02:12:53 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 6:

to my one doctor who weighs me every time, and I just know that if I could get this out of me, I would weigh like seven pounds less.

02:13:01 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. You're up in my neighborhood and you need to use the toilet?

02:13:03 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 6:

Every time I go, I ask her, can we just deduct like five pounds? And she's like, that's not how this works.

02:13:07 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 3:

And I'm like, ugh. I hate it. By the way, that is the worst feeling in the world when you've gone four days without a bowel movement. Oh, that's not the longest.

02:13:15 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 6:

That is not the longest. What's the longest? I've been like eight days before. You've got eight days?

02:13:19 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm not kidding you. You're going to explode.

02:13:21 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 6:

I don't know how I lost weight. I started eating the healthiest I've ever ate in my entire life, and now I'm irregular.

02:13:27 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 3:

But you know what the problem is, though? Make it make sense. You eat so much less, probably, that your body doesn't need it. Back in the day, like when I was doing, like, full-on pizzas by myself, I would go duty, like, six or seven times a day. It was because more in, more out. You also don't drink enough water. Neither do I.

02:13:44 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 5:

No, that is absolutely true. I'll give you the water thing, but I wasn't drinking enough water before when I was eating unhealthy.

02:13:50 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

02:13:51 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:13:51 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you know you're old when... What's up, Jen?

02:13:56 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 2:

So, I know I need to stretch more and everything, but, like, today is my 40th birthday. Oh, hey, good day. Thank you. But, like, when I roll out of bed in the morning and, like, I'm always late for work, so I'm trying to put on my pants. I can't even bend to, like, put on my pants. I got to lean up against the wall to try to put on my pants.

02:14:15 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 3:

Is that a balance problem? Is that what happened here?

02:14:18 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 2:

No, it's like sharp pain in my lower back. So I've got to sit on the floor, almost like people do when they're trying to do up their pants or like they lay on the bed trying to get up. I'm just trying to get them on, like get my foot in.

02:14:29 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Don't hurt yourself. That's the worst thing is you fall and end up hurting yourself even more than that. Yoshi, hi. You know you're old when? Hi, Yoshi.

02:14:42 - 02:14:44 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning.

02:14:45 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 3:

Hi. You know you're old when?

02:14:47 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 4:

Your teeth don't fit together. Wait, what? Your teeth don't sleep together?

02:14:53 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Fit together.

02:14:54 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 4:

No, sleep together.

02:14:55 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 3:

Sleep together. What do you mean?

02:14:56 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

Sleep with you. Sleep on a nice day. Oh, your teeth.

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, your teeth don't sleep.

02:15:02 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 3:

You actually, you have to put them in like a bowl at night or something? When your mouth is wide open.

02:15:09 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:15:11 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 3:

And you're sleeping. Question for you. How old are you? Listen, I'm not that old, but I'm 35.

02:15:19 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 5:

35 years old. You just have what, bad dental hygiene or what's the story?

02:15:23 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. I know a couple people that sleep with their mouth wide open.

02:15:32 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 2:

That's what he's talking about. Oh, I thought he said he takes his teeth out. Me too.

02:15:36 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 5:

Oh, when you sleep with your mouth open. Oh, gosh. I've been doing that since I was probably five. Are you fat? Because usually that's a sign of you got too much of a, what is it that the turkeys have? Like a gizzard or whatever? Yeah, like right here. What's up, Dylan? How you doing?

02:15:59 - 02:16:00 | Unknown:

Not too bad. How's everyone this morning?

02:16:01 - 02:16:09 | Speaker 5:

Good. By the way, that last caller would have been even better if it was that he didn't have his teeth in his mouth. But go ahead, Dylan. What's yours? I know you know your old one.

02:16:10 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 4:

You know your old one. You're not able to bounce back after drinking from a night out.

02:16:15 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 2:

I have to tell you, two drinks lately, like if I have two glasses of wine, it feels like I ripped shots all day the next day.

02:16:22 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 5:

Brutal.

02:16:22 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm not joking. Do we have any wine? You cannot do that. It's in the office.

02:16:26 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 5:

It's like Hangover City. Dylan, what do you drink? Are you down with the brown? What do you do?

02:16:31 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 4:

Usually when I drink, I drink Bacardi rum.

02:16:34 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so you're okay. Rum. Rum is, you know what? Honestly, you got to give up rum after you're like a teenager or in your 20s. Like you can't be doing rum anymore. Rum is only for vacations.

02:16:47 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm only 25 right now. Yeah.

02:16:49 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to say something controversial yet brave. If your go-to drink is rum, I just assume you've never made a good decision in your life.

02:16:57 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 5:

That's right. Rum to me, like when I see people drinking rum and Cokes, I go, that was like my first drink, Captain and Coke.

02:17:05 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 2:

Mine too. What's up, Sean? I can smell it.

02:17:08 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 5:

How you doing? Oh, it smells bad, doesn't it? When you smell it. What's up, Sean?

02:17:13 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, first time, long time. Hey! I'm rolling your name while you're on the phone.

02:17:19 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 5:

It's Sean. Sean's on the phone. You guys are awesome. Zach has been filling in for... Kev, can we give it up for Zach for doing such a great job? Zach, you're doing great. What's going on, Sean?

02:17:32 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you know you're old when you buy a pair of new balances for work and tell everybody how comfortable they are.

02:17:37 - 02:17:43 | Speaker 2:

Sean, you want to know what's crazy? Those are the new cool shoes. Yes, they are. They're everywhere.

02:17:43 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 4:

And they're cute. I just got my fiance's best friend to buy a pair. She loves them, too.

02:17:47 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 5:

They're cute. Hey, can I also tell you that the new new balances, the ones that everybody talks about now, are hokas. Kev makes fun of me all the time for wearing hokas, but hokas are like the modern day new balances. You'll have a pair. I'm ashamed to admit this.

02:18:07 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 2:

I said to Wes yesterday at the gym, I think I'm going to go buy a pair of hokas because I've been walking a lot lately. And my feet hurt. I'm not even 30. These don't cut, like, all their new balances. Oh, Jesus.

02:18:20 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 5:

Once you go to Hoka's, you'll never go back. I have some. Sean.

02:18:23 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you.

02:18:24 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 5:

I'll have to try them, Mojo. Try them, buddy. I don't even have a stake in the company, but I should. I love them so much. What's up, Jordan?

02:18:31 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

02:18:32 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi. You know you're old. Megan, it's that she does Metamucil. What's yours?

02:18:38 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 1:

My husband and I were going to Menards, and we were talking about how we do not feel 30. And then I bought two toilet brush and plunger combo sets. And I was so excited to go home and set them in the bathroom.

02:18:55 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I feel this.

02:18:56 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 5:

I think you could have stopped as we went to Menards. Mojo in the morning show. It's kind of a scary thing. And Shannon's wondering if you guys have ever had something like this happen to you. But what's been going on, Shannon?

02:19:15 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

So there is, excuse me, a white Jeep Grand Cherokee that constantly drives in circles around my house. And I wasn't even the one that noticed this. It was my husband who noticed it at first. And now I've noticed it over the past couple of days as well. So same car. Sometimes it will drive past the front of my house very, very slowly. And I live in a corner. and my house is like all windows on the first level so I can see it go all the way around the corner other times it will drive past and then reverse and go like over to my neighbor's house and then drive past my house again and then other times I can tell that it's gone around the block because it'll come past my house like three times

02:20:00 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 5:

And so, I can't figure out why this rando Jeep, white Jeep Grand Cherokee is, like, circling my house. And if it was, like, one time, I've had people, which is always very much a compliment to me, come past my house and take a picture. And they'll sometimes send somebody up and say, like, oh, what is your paint color or whatever? Like, that would be one time. Do you know what I mean? But this has been multiple days that we have noticed this car. And, like, it hasn't done anything sketchy. Like, nothing sketchy happens to my house. It's just driving around a ton.

02:20:34 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 3:

And it's not going to any destination that you believe is close to you? Like, it's not like it's a neighbor's or somebody like that that it's going to and it just drives by your...

02:20:43 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it could be somebody in the neighborhood, but then I think it's really super weird that whenever we see it, it just drives past the front of my house very slowly. And then sometimes we'll reverse and do the same thing.

02:20:53 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So, it's interesting that you bring this up. You know, it's a scary thing. I think, first off, I don't think it's wrong to call, like, your police and just say, hey, I just want to let you guys know I keep having this thing drive by. I think that's probably a smart thing to do, especially because you have had situations in the past where people have gotten a little crazy.

02:21:14 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 5:

Haven't had a very recent situation, yeah, yeah.

02:21:17 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 3:

But this has been happening a lot for a lot of people, so much so that, have you heard the story that broke this morning about how some residents are now blurring out their homes on the street view function of Google Maps? So I did that. You did?

02:21:32 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I did that a couple of years ago, but Google is stupid. And they blurred out one side of my house, but not the other. So on Google, when you look at my house on one, like, because, again, I'm on a corner, on one side it's blurred. But then if you, like, follow the little arrow around, you just, you see the other side. It's so stupid. They didn't think to do.

02:21:53 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even know that this feature was available.

02:21:54 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

Google Maps is often a go-to for travel and navigation. But it's the street view function that would-be thieves are using to case your home.

02:22:04 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 2:

It could be a good way for criminals to, you know, kind of do some research in the neighborhoods that they plan on targeting. They're going to be able to see what, you know, type of windows, what access points do they have from the front of the house. It showed my, one of my cars in the driveway clears day.

02:22:24 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 4:

According to FBI stats, break-ins occur every 26 seconds in the U.S. and account for nearly 1 million burglaries every year. It's why some people are now blurring out their homes and businesses on Google Maps. When Officer Ryan Railsback of the Riverside, California Police Department learned about the feature, he blurred his own home, especially as home invasions have been on the rise there.

02:22:50 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 2:

I don't know how often Google Maps updates these images. I know it's fairly frequent, but maybe the next time I have other cars or I have a garage open, I don't want any of that to show.

02:23:01 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 4:

Here's how to do it. First, find your property on Google Maps. Next, go to the bottom right of the screen and click Report a Problem. Then, click what you want blurred and hit Submit. You'll need to answer a few questions for Google to make the change.

02:23:17 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 1:

Going to all the websites that have your property information on there, you can get it all taken down. It does take time, and it's something that will be almost a cat and mouse game, because as soon as you take it down from one website, a new one will pop up.

02:23:28 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 3:

it's crazy though that that's like that's what it's come down to is people are are uh going on google maps to kind of case out a place and uh and see what a place looks like do you think i

02:23:40 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 6:

can uh blur out my apartment building that also has businesses in it probably not well you probably

02:23:47 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 3:

could blur out your windows if you have one of your windows where if you're in there walking

02:23:51 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 6:

around uh i love how you were trying to say naked and then you're like i shouldn't say that i don't

02:23:58 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

see you as a naked walk around her are you no uh by the way 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i'd love to know from listeners have they ever had something like this that turned into something crazy um 844 mojo live or text 95500 what's up donnie hey good morning um i was like is this a person

02:24:19 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 6:

that's digging through her garbage.

02:24:21 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 5:

And that was a dark-colored vehicle. That was a dark-colored SUV. I have had so many weird things happen at my house lately that maybe I should move.

02:24:32 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 6:

It's freaking me out. You should take a picture of their license plate. Listen, I listen to so many of these podcasts, so I always think I'm being stalked or followed. Take a picture. I'm paranoid. Take a picture of their license plate. Let them know that you see them. This is scary.

02:24:47 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 3:

The license plate thing is actually smart to do.

02:24:49 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 5:

I should go outside because they go past slow enough that I could go outside and take a picture of their license plate very easily. But see,

02:24:55 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 6:

I'll be like, I see you.

02:24:56 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I see, you know, that's one thing, obviously, to let them know that you see.

02:25:00 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 1:

them i'd take a picture of the license plate and i'd send it to the cops like i think you really should do that because i think that's that's one of those things and i and i get the idea that you want them to know that you see them but how is that going to still deter them they're not going to do anything until somebody actually pays them a visit what's happening susan hey mojo does she know she has a stalker well that's the thing and she so i yeah i know you can't say it yeah i literally just had a bad situation but there's yeah i wouldn't talk about it but i would but i would say this that this is again one of those situations she does you know you do and you talk about your house first off you talk about that people can see you having sex in the window and stuff so i wonder how many people know your your you know neighborhood and stuff like that who knows maybe it's one of the people that just heard that but still you do live in a very much of a fishbowl-y type of uh a home where there's a lot of windows i would say this to you and i thought chelsea chelsea and i had this conversation i think a lot of people know you in your neighborhood because you've lived there for a long time but also a lot of people know your name and i would like put your home in another person's name you know what i mean like or if you ever moved like don't ever put your name on the damn thing that was the best part about moving into an apartment

02:26:18 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 5:

I was finally getting my name off of my property. That's actually a really freaking good idea. How do you do that? Because even if I put it in Wes's name... You can put it under like an L... What do they call it? A trust or whatever. You can put it under like an organization or a non-profit name.

02:26:34 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 1:

Megan's right, though, about the whole apartment thing. Like, renting an apartment makes me feel a lot better. Like, I always said to Chelsea, like, let's sell our house and let's move into one of these FHS living apartments. These are beautiful places. so that nobody knows nobody will know what a number you live in you know they may know you live in the apartment but they may not know where you are what's up hunter how you doing

02:26:55 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 2:

doing good so i was just calling to say that back in like my high school days uh me and my buddies we would drive around when we were you know partaking in some smoking and we would just go into the nice neighborhoods just to kind of look around at all the nice houses and we would drive really slow and stuff so i don't know she should worry too much about it because it could just be people just checking out the houses and enjoying the view while they're enjoying their

02:27:22 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 1:

time as well it's isn't it sad though that we have to live in a fear type of you know it back like remember i told the story on the air about people coming to my door randomly and i jokingly said back in the day you get excited when somebody would come to your door nowadays you pull out a gun and you go get off my property but it's wild though that we do you can't trust it anymore you know and the google the google maps thing makes it real that it's too much technology out there that we can see everything what's up chanel hey first time long

02:27:57 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 6:

good job zach calves out today what's going on chanel

02:28:05 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 7:

so in my neighborhood we've had people drive by our house like that but they used to live in our house oh i did that the other day yeah up and down our street because our house our houses on

02:28:20 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 4:

our street are over like a hundred years old so i know the people that used to live in my house and also if this again if it was like a one day thing i would get that but this has happened multiple days you know yeah and so that's where it's kind of like creepy i feel so bad because i

02:28:38 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 5:

literally just said that to my childhood home a couple of days ago and i was like i hope they're

02:28:42 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 7:

not creeped out i just want to see it yeah we had an elderly couple that kept driving by my neighbor's house across the street because they kept wanting to see the house so i mean yeah i don't know if it's the same thing or not but thanks for the call shoop what's up hey what's

02:29:00 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 3:

up mojo nothing much man what's going on with you nothing much man i listen to you guys every morning i love you and i just wanted to tell you Shannon i recently remodeled my house and i had people that actually come by stop and take pictures and what i did is i tinted all my front windows in my house so nobody could see through that's something that i feel like you should do

02:29:26 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 1:

as well, too. So you tint them so that people can't see into your place, but it doesn't affect your view out, or is... Yes. Does it... Yeah. Does it help with... By the way, did you put spinners on that thing, too, on the house? That's what I'm thinking.

02:29:44 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 3:

24-inch spinners. I love it!

02:29:48 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 1:

No, it's interesting because the look of the house definitely changes if you do something like that, and I don't want to change the look of my house, but it would be nice to have people, I don't know.

02:29:57 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

It also scares me that at night it's harder to

02:30:00 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 1:

see out yeah what's not really because the ones the ones that i got are mirror tent so from the outside you can only see your reflection of yourself but when we look outside from inside of our house it's a beautiful view it's like there's no tent on it okay but then somebody told

02:30:17 - 02:30:28 | Speaker 4:

me this when we were talking about that topic of the person that came to my house they said though that at night it changes the thing around you can actually see in but you can't see out no the ones

02:30:28 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 1:

The ones that I got are beautiful, man. You can't see nothing daytime, nighttime, anytime.

02:30:34 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 4:

Are you calling from wall-side windows right now?

02:30:37 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 3:

We love wall-side. We do love wall-side.

02:30:39 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 4:

We are the factory. What's up, Aaron? Hi, it's Mojo in the Morning. If you're just tuning in right now, Shannon's got a creepy white Jeep Cherokee that keeps driving by her house. What's going on?

02:30:51 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm a door-to-ass driver, and I'm also homeless, and I find myself going to the same safe areas in the same safe neighborhoods that feel right. Oh, buddy. Okay.

02:31:02 - 02:31:04 | Unknown:

Similar areas where it just feels, it just feels good.

02:31:05 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 2:

Or people have told me, you know, this is a safe area, go here. So it's probably maybe creepy to some people if they don't know what's going on, but that could be someone's situation.

02:31:14 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 4:

Buddy, what's your, what's the situation with you?

02:31:16 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 2:

Um, I went through a divorce and some mental health stuff. Oh, man. It's just roughly, Lisa.

02:31:23 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Aaron, sorry.

02:31:25 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 4:

Do us a favor. let us know if we can ever help with breaking and entering Christmas wish. We do it year round. Hey, absolutely. I will. Okay. I mean, you, you call us back or you can send us a note on mojos, wish.org and see what we can do for you. Okay. All right. Thank you guys. Oh man. Um, Oh, I just hung up the phone. What's up, uh, misfit. Nicole.

02:31:50 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Nicole. Good morning.

02:31:54 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 4:

Nicole.

02:31:56 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 3:

So this is what I want to say, and I don't want to hear Shannon, but I had somebody who was doing that same thing, and he was actually looking for somebody to live in the area. He might have killed that person. It was on the news. Oh, great.

02:32:09 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 4:

Nicole, Nicole, what are you doing? No, no, no, no. I'm not going to end it that fast. Nicole, come on.

02:32:18 - 02:32:18 | Unknown:

No.

02:32:18 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 4:

I get it, but seriously, now you're going to freaking drive her nuts the rest of the morning.

02:32:25 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I just want to tell you something.

02:32:31 - 02:32:43 | Speaker 4:

This is Nicole. I just wanted to know he cut up her body in little teeny pieces. And ate her. You are the bearer of bad news right now, Nicole.

02:32:43 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, listen, this is the time we've been here. You've got to be safe. No, you're right. You're right. That people don't want to talk about. Is that right? Yeah. You're keeping it real. They got a date lab for a reason. Oh, let me tell you this in every single episode.

02:32:59 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 4:

As Nicole always says when she says, I'm keeping it real. This is what she's doing. She's keeping it real right now.

02:33:04 - 02:33:18 | Speaker 3:

No, so Shannon. Yeah. This is what I was thinking. This is a house you and Ben that you and Wes move in together, right? If you're making a new house, that might be fun for you and the kids. Get a new house. I don't want to move.

02:33:18 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 4:

Sell that house. That does not sound fun. I'm moving my mom right now. That's enough. Then get cut up in little pieces.

02:33:23 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Come live with me. Well, you know what? Mojo made a good point. If you let the police know, maybe just have a cruiser sit on your block. And then next time the guy drive around, just have a cruiser be like, hey, what's up? Everything okay? The neighborhood is saying you keep driving around, you know? There's nothing wrong with having a cruiser or a police officer ask a person. Because if they're driving around like that, it might happen again. Then the police ask him, you know, what's up? Like, why you keep chasing the block?

02:33:53 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 4:

Nicole, text her 248, just text in. What car does Nicole drive? Does she drive a white Grand Cherokee?

02:34:00 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 3:

Guess what? I don't know. And I've got to say, this is like, fuck me, Nick.

02:34:04 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 4:

Right.

02:34:06 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 3:

We love you, Nicole. I ain't got to say.

02:34:10 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning. It's time for me.

02:34:13 - 02:34:14 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:34:14 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:34:17 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 4:

Alexis.

02:34:18 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:34:19 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so you live with your mom?

02:34:23 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 3:

I do.

02:34:24 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 4:

You and your boyfriend, right? Or is it your fiancé?

02:34:28 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's my fiancé.

02:34:30 - 02:34:35 | Speaker 4:

Your fiancé. And your mom has like one rule. And what's the rule if you guys are living together?

02:34:36 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the one rule is I'm not allowed to have a baby while I'm living in her house.

02:34:41 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so it's just a temporary thing until you guys get married.

02:34:45 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yep. And then she wants us out and start her own life.

02:34:50 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, we're going to have some fun with mom then with five lies to tell your mom. All right. Lie number one that you're going to say to your mom, you're going to say, mom, I.

02:35:00 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 1:

need to live with you longer. Lie number two. Say we actually don't want to move out. Lie number three. So we hire contractors for the basement. Lie number four.

02:35:12 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 3:

They're putting in a kitchen.

02:35:14 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 1:

And lie number five. And a nursery too.

02:35:19 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. Okay.

02:35:20 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 1:

So you're going to be breaking mom's rule.

02:35:25 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:35:26 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 1:

How do you think your mom will feel about being a grandma?

02:35:30 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 2:

oh my god i think she's gonna fool it let's call her up and see what happens okay okay

02:35:37 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 3:

hello hey mom can you talk yeah what's up okay so i guess i i've been wanting to talk to you But, you know, me and Carter, we really need to live with you longer. We've decided we just don't want to move out. We're not ready for that. There's too much going on. But we were talking, and, you know, I think that we made a good decision here. And we actually hired some contractors for the basement. you did what you know so we hired some contractors for the basement you know because it's not finished yet just to make it like more like a home to do what well so we're gonna put in a kitchen um you know you have all of your candle stuff on the side by the door and you know i think just moving all of that and putting in a kitchen so that way we actually have water and we don't have to go upstairs would be really helpful and then i think what'd you say where the candle stuff is yeah we're like you know your candle bench i think that's where the kitchen will go the contractors are going to be out like I think they said, like, this week or next week, just to look, like, at the dimensions and stuff. But, like, in my... Well, no, I mean, it's already happening. And then in the makeup room...

02:37:34 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I'm out.

02:37:40 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 3:

No, well, okay, listen, in the makeup room, we were going to take that out and we'll make that into a nursery. What? We're going to make it into a nursery for the baby. Like, seriously? Like, seriously. We don't want to move out. You know, we're just going to stay with you, put our money towards contractors, do the basement, put the makeup room into a nursery. Are you trying to tell me something? Yeah. You need to tell Dad. Well, that's why I wanted to call you.

02:38:31 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 2:

All right. and um you can go ahead and tell her okay mom you're on five lies to tell your mom man you were really holding that one in oh my god mom it's mojo in the morning we have how much money out for a wedding

02:39:01 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy.

02:39:03 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 2:

And then you're going to take my business and move it without talking?

02:39:08 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 3:

Wait, Mom, you do understand this is just a joke, right?

02:39:11 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 2:

I do, yes. Okay. Oh, the little bitch. Okay. Oh, my God. I love you.

02:39:20 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Mom, what's the name of your candle business?

02:39:24 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 2:

It's candles and lights make everything nice.

02:39:27 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 1:

by the way I just want to use that slogan and then hear you say you little bitch

02:39:33 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 2:

out of all my kids and these little bitches all knew about it

02:39:41 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 1:

yeah everybody's in on it mom

02:39:46 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 2:

I love you it's mojo in the morning sweet

02:39:55 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 3:

Five lies to tell your mother.

02:39:59 - 02:39:59 | Unknown:

Right now.

02:40:00 - 02:40:14 | Speaker 2:

back to mojo in the morning all right mojo in the morning so your dad scott mick heard something on the air yeah and it made him have kind of a dad moment with you yeah and i love my dad and i

02:40:14 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 4:

want it to be very clear that he is incredibly supportive and just awkward okay he doesn't have a lot of deep conversations and so when he tries to it it makes me laugh and then i laugh at him And then he gets upset and doesn't want to have these conversations. And I always feel so guilty. So the other day, he heard on the show me wanting to get some plastic surgery done. And he was being so kind. And he was like, well, just why? And not like you shouldn't, but just like, why is that on your radar? And I said, well, I'm not really comfortable dating right now because I'm not really comfortable with how I look. And I don't think that's fair to a partner. so um it's something that i would like to work on before i start dating because i do want to start dating he was like well why don't like the holidays are coming up and i just want you to feel comfortable enough to bring somebody around like you know a guy you might be dating or i don't know somebody else and i started laughing so hard at him because that was his way of being like no judgment from me and i was like i know dad but it actually made me super sad and i didn't say this to him on the phone because he was being so nice and so sweet and trying to be so supportive but i was like you're not the problem there are other people and it made me so sad to be like i don't want to bring a girl around i don't want to have those conversations with your family yeah there's definitely people that i would just be and not everybody i wanted to be very definitely not your brother oh my god nobody wants to go to a drag show more than my brother i think sometimes

02:41:49 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 2:

my brother's upset he's not a gay man i thought your dad also is kind of into it too oh my god

02:41:54 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 4:

i have the best picture of my dad being crowned by a drag queen at a show and he is very happy so like i have an extremely supportive family but i think every family has that one outspoken person who always has something to say uncle bob or something right and it just makes me realize like i feel like i'm so close to a lot of the life goals that i've been waiting i've been putting them on the back burner for other life goals and i'm ready to take them off the back burner and put them on the primary ones and now i'm sad because i feel like it's going to be a tainted

02:42:26 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 1:

experience no because you got your dad and your brother on your side and those are the two like they're the big guns yeah you know what i mean like i would feel confident going into any sort a family situation with your dad and your brother having your back.

02:42:42 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 2:

I want so bad so bad to see you with another woman. Okay. I mean, not like that. I just want to see you happy. But I also would like to me, I want to you know, I just think it'd be great. So I think that you and you have talked more actually at our podcast, even Shannon referred to it when she said mojo you must not listen because and i always hear megan talk about it but i also wonder if she's just joking when she says it or is she serious when she says that

02:43:16 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 4:

she's more interested in girls right now than yeah and i'm interested in both and i always have been but i think i'm at a point in my life where i'm more comfortable around women so i'm not saying like men are off the table i just think it's more realistic for me do you think women are less

02:43:32 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

judgy than guys um because i feel like there'll be more judgy in my experience

02:43:37 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 4:

yeah i think women can be cattier i'm not saying that i think when it specifically comes to my body image issues women are more understanding than men and i say that from a perspective of somebody who has had male partners say some pretty horrific things about my body jesus i know it's fine it didn't leave a lasting damage at all i'm fine a guy that you've been in a relationship with said something about your body while we were hooking up let me tell you wait what oh yes can you say what it was or no it has stuck with me for a very very long time um it has been so damaging to my psyche it's not even funny so it to me i think i would be more comfortable having like an intimate partner relationship with somebody that i wasn't thinking in the

02:44:30 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

back of my mind what are you thinking you know i can't believe that guys or people anybody in general a guy or a girl would say something negative to somebody about their body while they're hooking up oh that's crazy some men have all the audacity 844 mojo live 844-665-654 this is kind of a cool thing ariana that uh megan's dad just like hey i really want you to feel comfortable to bring anybody that you're you know in a relationship with around me what's going on What did you want to say to Megan?

02:45:00 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 3:

hey Megan so I just really wanted to say um I get not wanting to date until you feel more comfortable with yourself but for me personally I started dating um women and I wasn't experienced with women and this one in particular woman really opened my eyes she thought I was so gorgeous and beautiful and amazing and just like I had never been treated like that before and her treating me like that made me realize that I am beautiful and gorgeous and amazing and it made me so much more confident in myself and first of all you're absolutely freaking gorgeous I can't stand when I see negative things about you um but yeah that's all I wanted to say maybe uh you just haven't

02:45:51 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 6:

met the right people yet maybe you might be right you absolutely might be right um and thank you I really appreciate you calling in and giving that advice but it's so scary just dating again is so scary that i'm like really trying to protect what i've built back up in my life selena hello it's

02:46:11 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning hi hi uh i love megan okay megan you're beautiful okay like uh i don't even know what i get it i get the insecurities um i don't think you have anything to be insecure about though i think you're stunning um and i can understand the family thing as well uh but i think shannon's right like your dad and your brother are your rock so like as long as you have them i feel like you're gonna be fine are you single

02:46:44 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 5:

uh not at the moment oh no wait not at the moment means but soon you will be would you date megan i would in a heartbeat um slide into those dms after you end your relationship after you end your relationship let me ask you a question you're in something other

02:47:05 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 1:

obviously would you cheat with megan is megan is megan i'm not gonna advocate for that come on

02:47:11 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 4:

No, I am not that kind of person, but it actually, well, I mean, Megan, I don't think Megan would be down, but I am allowed to have a girlfriend.

02:47:23 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you're in a relationship with, what, a dude, and you're allowed to have girls?

02:47:28 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:47:29 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Tell us what you would do to Megan if you had Megan right now.

02:47:32 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no.

02:47:34 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 1:

Huh?

02:47:36 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 4:

I said we started out as poly, but I don't really want other men, so.

02:47:39 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 1:

You just want Megan. You don't need other men nor other women. You just want Megan.

02:47:44 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 4:

I do want Megan.

02:47:47 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 1:

What would you do if you had Megan right now?

02:47:51 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. I wouldn't. Hang on.

02:47:57 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 1:

Would you start at the top or start at the bottom?

02:47:58 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you can call her after the show. This is why I don't talk about stuff like this.

02:48:03 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 1:

Come on.

02:48:03 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 5:

Come on, you.

02:48:05 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 1:

She's going to start nibbling on the toes first.

02:48:08 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. That's the quickest way to get me to run away.

02:48:11 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Mandy? Mandy, what's going on?

02:48:14 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Megan. I just wanted to say that, number one, you're gorgeous. Number two, that is so amazing about your dad and brother because my family is in Georgia. and when me and well my now ex-girlfriend and my son went down to visit my stepmom introduced uh her to her friends as my friend from toledo stop it yeah yeah and then there were some and couldn't understand why but um i heard that last conversation uh i am single just throwing that out there you know if you ever come back to Toledo which I I've seen all your stories you do I'm here so

02:49:03 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 1:

and it's not like you're far from her though I mean even if she doesn't go you can come visit

02:49:09 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 2:

her in Detroit yeah hey I'm right by the highway too so it's real quick from the exit easy access Megan this started off

02:49:21 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 1:

with you talking about how you feel uncomfortable bringing somebody back especially if it's a woman to your family 734 says bring me Megan I'll out gay you to piss off those family members

02:49:35 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 6:

I think where it really comes from is like I don't I don't want to risk those traditions I don't want to risk tainting my happy places by other people making decisions that would ruin it and the happy places are what happy places you're like going to uh you know i don't want to not feel comfortable going

02:50:00 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 4:

two family events yeah you know yeah well yeah but if that is going to be your your future and your situation then at some point your family is you know i know hopefully they will become comfortable and supportive what's happening kay good morning everybody okay okay megan i have

02:50:25 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 3:

watched you at your heaviest at your lowest i have watched you date men women all of that you are beautiful at every stage that you've been in thank you and family is not who you're born into family is who love you and your brother and your father are those people i'm a part of a side acceptance group so i've talked about it before and it doesn't matter if you're 50 pounds 100 pounds 300 pounds everyone has something and it starts within and once you love them parts everything about you then people will flock to you because you show a different radiance do you know what i mean no i absolutely get it it it just makes a big difference when i joined the group because i'm 280 i've been 220 i've been 180 and you got to love yourself in every stage and get yourself a family that you start new traditions start new new new things that love you you know what i mean yeah and i think you'll be okay yeah it's scary i don't like change

02:51:29 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 1:

i remember when i remember when our son came out chelsea uh was really worried about how people would be towards jacob and i remember she went to those people that you kind of have an idea out who they would be and basically said to them i will never talk to you ever again if anything ever and honestly i will say this to you jacob opened up i think a lot of family

02:51:55 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

members eyes to and to be you can call cousin and i'll come pick them up i just want i just

02:52:05 - 02:52:16 | Speaker 1:

want megan here's what i want for megan i just want stories of dating her dating anybody i don't care Megan come on oh my god I just want to hear one morning when she comes in and says I got in a

02:52:16 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 5:

fight last night with blah blah blah you know what actually I wanted to make this announcement right here and right now for you um I've decided that it is my time to join a convent and I am going to you know what I'd actually like that my celibacy to our lord and savior I would love if

02:52:32 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 1:

you joined a convent just because I want to see you in one of those habits oh my god they're so

02:52:36 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 2:

On New Year's resolutions, those are the dreams that we have that never come true. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:52:44 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Listen to this. What do people fight about? What do couples fight about the most? Revealed in a latest survey was the number one thing that couples argue about. And I actually found it really interesting because for us, this is not our case for my wife and I. But number one most thought about thing that couples argue about sex in relationships or marriages, sex is the most common issue that partners argue about. The second is money, followed by family, parenting styles, talking to exes, sharing private relationship issues with others, religion, and then being too possessive. This is according to marriage.com, the things that people fight about the most. It's interesting, because I'm going through this list, and I'm going to tell you in a second here, because I'll tell you what Chelsea and I fight about the most. You guys think of yours, too. But I found it interesting that sex is number one, because I would think that sex would not be, like, the most fought about. I would think money would have been number one. Like, that made sense. And then...

02:54:04 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 4:

I'd say, I thought family would be higher up there.

02:54:06 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, family would be interesting. One or two. Family would be interesting, and then also I would think that I've been hearing a lot at times now, I feel like even more so than ever, guys being too possessive and controlling. Here's for Chelsea and I. So my wife and I, Chelsea and I, hold on. You know what? Hold on a second. Where's she at? I wonder if she's available to call and fight with. she's uh driving up to uh to east lansing right now so maybe she's i don't know because her friend leah's son goes to michigan state hello are you on your drive right now i am we are we're in the car guess what we're talking about right now i'm listening we were listening oh are you really okay for so for chelsea that's leah by the way so hi to leah you guys

02:54:59 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

See ya.

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys.

02:55:01 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 1:

Leah listens to the show a lot more than Chelsea does. Leah's actually my radio wife. Chelsea's my real wife. And Leah's very supportive of me. We're Chelsea sometimes. Eh, sometimes. So for Chelsea and I, we fight about the most our kids. Our kids are our biggest fight. And it's usually our kids being a pain in the ass cause for you and I to get into fights, Chelsea.

02:55:24 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 3:

Why is that? Why would we fight about that?

02:55:27 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 1:

Because they're jerks. Yes.

02:55:31 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 3:

Or because I need a partner in helping me parent.

02:55:35 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 1:

Weird. Okay. It's mine. She said I need to step up a little bit with the parenting thing. Our kids are definitely the one. So can we talk about the text message from Luke last night or no?

02:55:49 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't think that's a good idea. All right.

02:55:51 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 1:

We're not going to talk about that yet.

02:55:53 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm so happy you called her so that she could say that. I'm not going to say that then. It's still ongoing.

02:55:59 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 1:

it's gotten even bigger oh it has all right well you and i will talk off the air when we go into the next commercial break but i i find it into the two things that i came up with that we fight about the most are kids and then my work would probably be number two am i right and your phone and my phone is number three and notice that none of these things are things that i fight with her about because i have no problems with chelsea i'm usually you know what i mean like i'm usually because i think i am very calm and cool and i let things not get to me am i right

02:56:36 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 3:

um or i think there always has to be a problem and then always someone is not the problem

02:56:42 - 02:56:54 | Speaker 1:

oh okay what she said on this one here um did we ever in our past ever fight about sex though Was sex ever a big thing in our marriage to fight about?

02:56:55 - 02:56:55 | Unknown:

No.

02:56:56 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 1:

Because that's number one. And also, how do you fight about it when there's not any of it? So, you know.

02:57:01 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 3:

That is very true. It's so true. What about each other's families?

02:57:06 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Chelsea, do you want to talk about my family?

02:57:11 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 3:

You don't fight about my family ever.

02:57:14 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 1:

Never.

02:57:15 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 3:

And I'll just leave it to that.

02:57:16 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 1:

That's it. Yes. Her family. We never fight about it. But Chelsea's, we've had some issues. My sisters have said sometimes, or one in particular has said some things sometimes that hurt Chelsea. And then also me not sticking up for her is a big deal. That's actually a common place in our marriage. Money was a big one in our marriage early on, and that was a big problem for us. I remember that. Religion's never been, although I didn't want to send our kids to Catholic school. You did. Chelsea's not even Catholic and she wanted them and I oppose that I'm trying to think of some of these other ones here Am I ever possessive of you?

02:57:58 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 4:

No

02:57:58 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 1:

Are you possessive of me? Yeah, I was kind of I know, Megan's right I was kind of breathing a sigh of relief I need to know the Luke thing I'm going to call you here in a second I'm going to end this conversation early because I want to know what the hell's going on Now I'm worried about that

02:58:14 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 3:

Listen, don't be worried just finish your show because i don't know if you can compartmentalize good and bad right now

02:58:25 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 1:

oh jesus that's my work that's my work wife oh god that feels like we'll talk later hon okay

02:58:32 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 4:

we'll talk later it does feel like as soon as the show's over you're gonna get a call going

02:58:36 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 1:

get in the car get in the car you're driving to east lansing and we're moving back uh luke what's going on jessica how you doing hey doing good how are you good what do you guys fight about

02:58:47 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 2:

well i was just gonna say that i i heard what you were saying like from sex and money and kids and all that and i think it's also important to identify the root issue which is i feel like not being understood or feeling that your point to prove is more superior than understanding your wife's point of view yeah and i think all the time we just want to prove that we're right and we just want to make a point and we're just kind of forgetting that um both of our ideas should

02:59:15 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 1:

come together that is actually a really good point that's actually very smart to say i think a lot of times people don't want to be anything more than just heard right absolutely no that's great yeah

02:59:27 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

that's a good that's good are you married uh not yet but i'm on the way really uh are you are you sure you want to do that absolutely absolutely i mean it took a lot of time for me to really just like i was i was a really stubborn person and i think at some point when you really want to settle down with someone yeah you have to let your guard down and you know there's a reason why you choose that person and you just got to give them a chance you know every time you're stuck and you feel like you don't have a way out and you're just so frustrated yeah um you really just have to give their I

03:00:00 - 03:00:08 | Speaker 1:

idea a chance and i think that's so important are you in therapy and that's how you came up with all this stuff because that's pretty or are you a therapist you know i also i had to do some

03:00:08 - 03:00:18 | Speaker 4:

reflection to figure this out too so i just wanted to you know shed some light on it i think it's so important i'm so important and it worked wonders for me so wow this we gotta have you on with us

03:00:18 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 1:

more often jessica what's going on lily hi what's happening hi lily oh hi there hi what do you guys fight about wait was that Kev here with us right now that sounded like Kev going because Kev is off today I heard the Lily

03:00:35 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 4:

go ahead Lily

03:00:39 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 3:

no we don't really fight about sex or family money sure but our number one issue is drinking really how come oh yeah I think when we got married we were both alcoholics and I decided to quit and he did not want to so now when he overdoes it i get easily aggravated and it turns into a big fight

03:01:02 - 03:01:08 | Speaker 1:

oh yeah i can see that that yeah boy that's amazing two alcoholics coming together to get

03:01:08 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 3:

married that had to be pretty tumultuous it actually was fine for a long time and then it did become a problem did you guys meet at aaa no we met at a bar

03:01:20 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 1:

that was my second question but uh our second answer wow that's amazing well i'm glad that you gave it up i i hope that for the sake of your relationship and the sake of his health

03:01:34 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 5:

he's able to do it too yeah dakota what's up it's mojo in the morning hey good morning uh so yeah i i have a roommate and we we literally argue about like cleaning stuff like that not a couple but But, yeah, we argue about cleaning all the time and who takes turns. And, yeah, that's our biggest one, I guess.

03:01:55 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 1:

Yep, that makes sense. Boy, that's an interesting thing. Cleaning is a one in our family, too, because we're not both on the same page on that one. I'm not clean.

03:02:07 - 03:02:08 | Speaker 2:

That's what it is.

03:02:09 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 1:

But I will say this to you, that that does become one of those things where I think opposites do kind of attract in that case.

03:02:16 - 03:02:17 | Speaker 2:

No, not with cleanliness.

03:02:17 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 1:

Tell me that if you have two people that are anally retentive clean, that those people don't have, like, a very weird life.

03:02:25 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 2:

No, because if you have one person who needs cleanliness and the other person is messy, I'm going to resent you. They're always, like, taking care of you. I feel like both Wes and I are both kind of neat.

03:02:35 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 1:

Are you guys both? Yeah. You guys seem like that. You guys always seem very clean together.

03:02:39 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I bet you fold your underwear. I do not fold my underwear. He does. I fold his underwear for him.

03:02:45 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 1:

Stephanie. Just fold it. Stephanie, what's going on?

03:02:49 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 2:

Don't be impressed.

03:02:51 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 1:

Hi, what's up, Stephanie?

03:02:53 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So, I think maybe spank banks, which...

03:02:59 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what do you guys fight about?

03:03:03 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, we don't fight anymore, but in the last year, now I'm 33, and I'd never heard of this. It's called a spank, S-P-A-N-K bank, is what he referred to. And it's a series of pictures from, depending on X's and, like, and then they have them on different forms. So they have them on a flash drive or a female.

03:03:31 - 03:03:37 | Speaker 1:

He has them saved as his spank bank that he uses to masturbate to?

03:03:39 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And people he knows? Oh, there were, yeah. We, yeah, yeah. And, I mean, there were ones from when he was girlfriends that he was dating, like, 18, all the way up to, like, 34. Babe, red flag.

03:03:56 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 3:

That is a big no. Babe, red flag.

03:04:00 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Where is the trap?

03:04:01 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Or I was thinking, run.

03:04:07 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 2:

Why do we not fight over this?

03:04:09 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 1:

Wait, you can't go ahead.

03:04:10 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 2:

No, we don't fight anymore, but that's actually the reason I called off a wedding because I had found it. And it was, like, the fourth or fifth time, and he kept saying he was going to delete it. And then I found it. I found it on various forms. And I'm not great with technology. I found it on an email. Then I found it on, like, a Samsung drive, which I didn't even know existed. And he had it on posters. And then I found a flash drive of his first girlfriend, like, seven pictures in his work bag. And I bought him. Jeez. And you are still with him, you said?

03:04:45 - 03:04:46 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't know.

03:04:46 - 03:04:56 | Speaker 2:

No, we were supposed to get married last year, but I actually found it the day before the wedding, the flash drive. So, shout out to you know who you are, because...

03:04:56 - 03:04:57 | Speaker 1:

That's pretty crazy.

03:04:58 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so, Stephanie, you canceled the wedding the day before the...

03:05:00 - 03:05:38 | Speaker 3:

the wedding yes i did quick question for you okay wait that's a whole do you think you're in his current spank bank absolutely oh my god and that would be a frustration because i who knows buddy and it's scary because maybe for someone for so long i mean i never heard about the spank bank and it's very embarrassing however because i'm 33 it's just wild and i feel like girls should know about that because i felt incredibly ignorant like i figured maybe guys kept a few pictures but not bang some and there's a name for it because all of his friends knew exactly what it was

03:05:38 - 03:06:31 | Speaker 1:

let me just let me just tell you that's a guy that honestly i worry about other issues going on with him if he's got that many wow amen well bless you all well thank you i appreciate that All right. Mojo in the morning show. So we were hanging out with some friends and you know how you always hear these stories all the time about people that have like picture montages. Like for instance, have you seen those digital picture frames where you can, you can, is that what, what are they called? Skylights. My mom and dad have them. So they're pictures basically from your phone. Like any picture you take on your phone goes on to that thing and you know, through bluetooth and they randomly go up there and sometimes you'll be sitting there looking at pictures going oh these are cool these are cute look at the the kids and stuff and the next thing you know there's like a random picture that just shows up there that wasn't meant to be on there

03:06:31 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 2:

screenshot of smith's rash that i had to send right or worse your rash if that happens you

03:06:37 - 03:08:00 | Speaker 1:

know what i mean yeah so this is kind of like that and if that's ever happened to you call us up at 844 Mojo Live and tell us like what everybody saw. This is not a picture. This was actually audio. So we were hanging out with some friends and they have a Sonos system. If you don't know what Sonos system is, basically it's a system where you can kind of play your music on a little speaker, like a Bluetooth speaker. They have their speakers actually attached to their house and it can be stuff that's off of your phone, kind of like you're just playing music you know when you're sitting in your car you know listening to us like the iheart radio app and stuff and nice we're just sitting there listening to whatever playlist is playing i didn't even know what kind of music it was until this incident happened and a song ends and then all of a sudden the song ends and the music stops for a second and the music was fairly loud enough that you noticed oh there's no song coming on again maybe their playlist completely ended or something Then all of a sudden you hear what sounds like, you know, voice memos. Do you ever do voice memos on your iPhone? Oh, yeah. Like where you record something and you can hear the voice memo? Well, it's also kind of like voice mails that you might get. Like, for instance, here, I got, let's see what I got. I got voice mails here. This is like, this is my buddy, Paul, that sent me a voice mail here. All right? So he's like, randomly, I don't know what he's got here.

03:08:00 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 3:

This is a checkup. I'm sure everything's okay. I haven't heard from you since your little broke-back bourbon trip.

03:08:07 - 03:09:08 | Speaker 1:

right okay that's my buddy paul he called he called the trip i went on with the guys a broke back bourbon trip all right so randomly you hear the music stop and then all of a sudden a message start and the message happened to be and i'm going to title this one appropriately enough the mother effing voicemail it was our friend's wife who very nice lady mother effing her husband because they were in the midst of a fight and she left him a voicemail where he she was like you mother effing i'm gonna you i can't you can't stand their guts you mother and you're all listening to this so they're in they're in a fight well i'm listening to this but i'm also listening to panic mode trying to stop the thing yeah because he saved the voicemail of her being Because he wanted, I guess, proof of her being so angry at him and getting crazy and stuff, you know?

03:09:08 - 03:09:10 | Speaker 3:

I will F you up, bitch!

03:09:10 - 03:09:19 | Speaker 1:

Getting, like, all angry and stuff. And it randomly played on his playlist. And all of us heard it, and she was mortified.

03:09:19 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 2:

Did she know that he had saved that? Or was that the first time that she figured that out?

03:09:25 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's just put it this way. It was such an embarrassing situation that it literally, like a record zip and crash, it stopped the whole gathering that we were at. And it turned into a situation where we were all like, I don't think this is going to be going on very long. But she did not know that he did that. Had no idea. And it brings up a couple of things.

03:09:51 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 3:

Hot mother f***.

03:09:52 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Have you guys ever had something this embarrassing happen to you where something randomly either

03:10:00 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 6:

was shown like the picture or a voicemail like this um and or if somebody leaves you a voicemail like that do you keep it like would you keep if if you were getting into a fight with your husband or boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever and they were mother effing you in the thing would you do what my friend did would you save the voicemail just to have proof of it oh yeah okay so i haven't

03:10:26 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 1:

done that but i have screenshotted text messages oh and you save those for days yeah i have screenshotted text messages from people that i know like i i just want to keep in my back pocket but i people don't really call me early and leave messages because i tell you not to in my voicemail so i don't have that but i definitely screenshot texts i think it's one thing if you think you're

03:10:48 - 03:11:02 | Speaker 2:

going to find it funny later on like if the reaction was so crazy to something that you're hopefully one day we can listen to this and laugh. I get that. But if you're saving it for like, hopefully get divorced, I've got proof that's so bad that makes me uncomfortable. I know people that have

03:11:02 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 6:

a divorce file. They save everything. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548 or text 95500. Stacy, what embarrassing thing accidentally got seen by everybody?

03:11:16 - 03:11:49 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so I sent a bunch of pictures to be printed and my daughter and daughter-in-law were looking through them. And somehow, I know they did not collect these pictures, and a couple booty pics that I had sent my husband were in there. And my daughter was 15 at the time. She goes, what the hell is this? And I was like, oh, dear God. She goes, Mom, you're disgusting. And I was like, oh, my God. I was like, what the heck? And I'm like, give me those pictures right now. And she goes, oh, no, I want to know if there's more now.

03:11:49 - 03:11:54 | Speaker 1:

hey it's good for her to know that you have a healthy relationship with her daddy

03:11:54 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 5:

that's awesome taylor what's happening how are you oh i'm amazing how are you doing good you

03:12:14 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 6:

You had an embarrassing situation that happened?

03:12:16 - 03:12:22 | Speaker 4:

Probably the most embarrassing of my life. So I had a porn. Hold on. Close your door.

03:12:22 - 03:12:24 | Speaker 6:

Can you close it? Or put the seatbelt down. Go ahead.

03:12:25 - 03:12:51 | Speaker 3:

I had a porn site open on my phone, and it started playing when I set it down. And my phone was connected to the Bluetooth in the house. So the whole house is full of, like, the moaning and the grunting and the sex noises of the porn. and everyone's looking around and i'm looking around i'm like what is that what is i didn't even realize it was playing so i click at my phone and i'm like okay

03:12:51 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 6:

by the way i'm happy that that actually happens to women because i bet you it happens more so to guys when they last played something on their their phone that's hysterical you can always tell

03:13:06 - 03:13:13 | Speaker 2:

who does that on their phone when you ask to google something and they have to clear up they They've got to open up the internet first and then hand you the phone. What were you watching?

03:13:14 - 03:13:16 | Speaker 6:

What is it? Delete my cash or whatever it is?

03:13:17 - 03:13:24 | Speaker 4:

When you go to like an iPhone and search up something, like say you're searching up like a picture of a cake. And for whatever reason.

03:13:24 - 03:13:29 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. Real quick. I didn't get a chance to actually. This is not the same caller we were just talking to. Who is this?

03:13:31 - 03:13:33 | Speaker 4:

This is not. I mean, I'm sorry.

03:13:33 - 03:13:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I'm sorry. I like. Who are you? This is Maria. All of a sudden I just picked up a line and you're randomly just having. I like that. You're so comfortable talking to us, you didn't even let me introduce you. Hi, Maria.

03:13:44 - 03:13:45 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

03:13:45 - 03:13:46 | Speaker 6:

What's going on? What were you going to say?

03:13:47 - 03:14:12 | Speaker 4:

So, what happened was, I was showing my mom some pictures of, like, some cakes and some foods that I was making for my ex, and in, like, the photo realm, if you will, when I'm swiping over, here comes a video of me literally recording myself trying to run my ex over. Oh. And my mom's like, what? What happened? So it was just a hot mess.

03:14:13 - 03:14:13 | Speaker 6:

Wait a second.

03:14:13 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 4:

What's the matter? Stop her thinking.

03:14:15 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 6:

You were trying to run your ex over.

03:14:20 - 03:14:22 | Speaker 4:

It's a long story. It's a long story. Okay.

03:14:22 - 03:14:25 | Speaker 2:

Actually, we have time. We have a little bit of time.

03:14:25 - 03:14:32 | Speaker 1:

The dirty's always late. Go. What happened? Yeah. Oh, don't get quiet now.

03:14:32 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 6:

Come on.

03:14:33 - 03:14:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sorry. Oh, wait. I'm live now. Yeah, don't listen to the radio. It's going to screw you up. Just listen in your phone.

03:14:39 - 03:14:42 | Speaker 6:

What was the story? Why were you trying to run over your ex?

03:14:43 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I woke up. Something told me to wake up that night. And I woke up and we were living with each other, just to give you that back story. But anyways, I looked on his phone and I woke up around 2 o'clock in the morning. I looked on his phone and he was texting all of these women.

03:15:00 - 03:15:10 | Speaker 3:

basically cheating on me it was absolutely horrible to know that you know i've been sleeping next to this guy for a long time and the text threads that i've seen were from a while back

03:15:10 - 03:15:48 | Speaker 1:

so it was just so you got in the car yeah waited for him to walk outside and tried to run him over and took video of it you actually got video proof of that i did i did we fought inside him and we went outside wow okay by the way i gotta tell you our listeners are the most interesting people ever they really are i listen to some of these other radio shows and listen no offense to the other radio shows you guys are fabulous you do the five and ten game better than anybody but this is damn funny these people are crazy that we're talking to right now don't run me over for saying that What's up, Haley?

03:15:49 - 03:15:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi. First time caller. Hey.

03:15:54 - 03:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Kev is out, so Zach is filling in. Thank you, Zach. What's going on, Haley?

03:15:58 - 03:16:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so I used to be a client, or I used to clean for clients, and I had this one guy, single, like recently divorced, older, maybe in his late 40s, early 50s, and he had one of those Alexas that always showed the pictures on his phone, and I was cleaning, and I was And some pictures popped up of some nude girls and some FaceTime screenshots.

03:16:26 - 03:16:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez. Oh, wait. It was really awkward.

03:16:30 - 03:16:40 | Speaker 3:

FaceTime, too. Yeah, I definitely did not bring this up. I always cleaned. He always would be at work and would leave it unlocked, and I would get it done and get out of there.

03:16:40 - 03:16:51 | Speaker 1:

but be honest did you start looking a little bit more at that little thing that alexa thing just to see if anything else would pop up on there or no i actually did the complete opposite i looked

03:16:51 - 03:16:58 | Speaker 3:

down anytime i was here i was too nervous i didn't want to see anything i was there to clean and that

03:16:58 - 03:17:11 | Speaker 1:

was it i'm telling you those little frame cameras things you got to be careful of and of course now that you just heard the story i told you today be careful of any audio that you've got on any playlist, because they will randomly just start playing crazy crap.

03:17:12 - 03:17:13 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Oh my gosh, yes.

03:17:13 - 03:17:15 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the call. I appreciate you, Haley.

03:17:15 - 03:17:17 | Speaker 3:

Take care of yourself. Oh, all right. Yes, you guys have a good day.

03:17:18 - 03:17:21 | Speaker 1:

Man, I'm just complaining about the heat.

03:17:23 - 03:17:26 | Speaker 4:

Shut up. This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:17:27 - 03:17:42 | Speaker 1:

Kevin had a moment with his son, Josiah, and grandma, which, by the way, Kevin's grandma should have her own sitcom. love her so much they should do like the golden girls part two what's going on yeah grandma ruth

03:17:42 - 03:19:31 | Speaker 2:

bitch shout out to grandma ruth who's 93 years old still kicking love her so much we went over there sunday and when i say we myself josiah and we're over there and josiah is with me the rest of the ladies are in the back playing with the baby and doing that and my grandmother and i have the greatest relationship uh that i could ever ask for from anyone she is everything to me and so much more and as i've gotten older our relationship has gone from being super strict to like having this beautiful playful relationship we can just joke and josiah's in front of me i don't know what happens but i stick the middle finger up in my grandmother and josiah everybody's getting it okay i'm an equal flip off grandma yes it was it was It was in good fun. It wasn't like... People who flip other people off are so inappropriate. Megan flicks me off every morning. It's a part of our handshake, actually. If she doesn't do it, you feel like she's mad at you. It's the opposite. Is something okay? Why are you being nice? I flick off my grandmother. Josiah's sitting in front of me, and he gives me the... Like, I can't believe you just did that face. And my grandmother gets up. she comes in there and she starts to play with josiah and then she flicks josiah off he's like again and i think at that moment he's like okay this is cool i can do this and i kind of wanted to get you know information from you all who are parents and you know other parents out there like when when is it okay to i guess take that next step with your child next step of flipping them off i mean like allowing your child to curse or a lot you know

03:19:31 - 03:19:35 | Speaker 1:

Not making things taboo.

03:19:36 - 03:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because one of the things that I've always understood is I want to teach my son. I don't want the streets or the school to teach him because they may not always give them context to the topic per se. I'm not saying you need context for flipping off, but we're just talking about things that are separate from your child being your baby. And then your child's starting to become an adolescent, turning into a teenager. And the times are moving faster now that we have all this technology in our hands.

03:20:00 - 03:20:09 | Speaker 7:

so i don't know if i'm overreacting thinking that oh because yesterday he started to flick me off for no reason but now he's got like the the thumb out with the middle finger he's like

03:20:09 - 03:20:20 | Speaker 8:

i'm like i love you he's like i love you too and like you did by the way kind of give him that okay because he saw your grandma yeah he saw you doing her you know his great grandma doing it and saw

03:20:20 - 03:20:37 | Speaker 7:

you doing it and then laughing afterwards yeah so i don't i don't know if i'm overthinking it or if i'm like you know don't do that anymore don't stick to me because what happens after that is he gonna just start cussing for no reason and it's like am i opening up a door that maybe i shouldn't right now chanon you probably can answer this question because oh my god every time you

03:20:37 - 03:20:51 | Speaker 8:

call me my kids are like and i say a hole the funny is though is you cannot laugh afterwards and when you laugh they think that it's okay yeah it's hard not to you heard me on a facetime with

03:20:51 - 03:21:44 | Speaker 4:

lucy the other day and i said something under my breath i think i said spit and she was like mom i heard you just say spit like they just say it i think for me and my kids are are littler than josiah you know they're six and almost ten but um i like swearing is a great example middle finger is a great example too they know all that stuff already and so like do we do it inside of our home i mean yeah my thing to them is you know what this is you know this gesture and this word is not nice do not do it outside of the house yeah context yeah yeah like you if you do this at school like i always tell smith if you say dick at school you are going to go to the principal's office i should have used the word boner he said boner if you say boner at school you are going

03:21:44 - 03:21:51 | Speaker 9:

to go to the principal's office okay he's talking about a skeleton though but you know what i mean

03:21:51 - 03:22:09 | Speaker 4:

And, like, Josiah's not dumb. He probably sees people do those things. And I think if you say to him, look, like, I did this to Grandma as a joke, like, we do not do that. That is not what we believe. We do not treat other people that way. We don't, you know, just don't do it when somebody cuts you off in traffic.

03:22:10 - 03:22:13 | Speaker 8:

You're full of it. Kayla, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

03:22:14 - 03:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. Hey, Kevin. Hey, everybody. For me, so I'm a mom of three, and I'm a foul-mouth mom of three. And for me, it's each kid is their own. I don't treat all of them equally, but it's their maturity, how they're using it, where they're using it. Because, first of all, they're going to hear it from me. So if they're going to hear it from anywhere, they're going to hear it from me. But as long as they're using it in a respectful manner, sometimes joking around is cool. But, you know, as long as they know where that limit lies, you're not going to go to school and say it. You're not going to say it to, you know, out of context like that. But for me, it's their maturity and how they're using it.

03:22:54 - 03:23:03 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. Yeah. If you're using it, use it in an appropriate way. Like, make sure it's in a proper sentence. Dramatically said correct.

03:23:04 - 03:23:09 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, when your kids swear and they use it, like, in the best way, I'm like, inside. Oh, yeah.

03:23:11 - 03:23:13 | Speaker 8:

Hey, Julie, what's up?

03:23:14 - 03:23:27 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Hi. Yeah, I was just talking about, I think we shouldn't be the ones that teach our kids to swear. They're going to hear us do it, but I don't think we should encourage it. We know they're going to do it, but I don't think they should help us in front of us.

03:23:27 - 03:23:33 | Speaker 8:

So we should instead let a truck driver teach them how. You have a mouth like a truck driver.

03:23:33 - 03:23:51 | Speaker 9:

Go ahead, Mike. Well, that's where I'm torn with this is because I agree. I think this is like an evolution. Like, they have to learn this stuff. It's going to happen. And I'm like on the opposite end of this where I'm trying to, like, hold back the innocence right now. And it's going to fail. I know it's going to fail. And I agree with what you're saying. Like, I just don't know when the right time is to do it. I have no idea either.

03:23:51 - 03:24:08 | Speaker 5:

But at the same time, hasn't language evolved to a point where these words are not as bad as they used to be? Well, yeah. Because back in the day, if you cursed at work, it was like a fireable offense. Yeah. And now you can talk to your boss and be like, this heaven sucks.

03:24:08 - 03:24:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

03:24:09 - 03:24:16 | Speaker 5:

And it's not like, it's more casual. It's more contextual and, like, emphasis rather than, like, degrading in me.

03:24:16 - 03:24:21 | Speaker 8:

I just like to use British words, you know? Same. Like, what? A wanker.

03:24:21 - 03:24:28 | Speaker 7:

The T word is my favorite. What is it? What's the T word? Taddy wanker? No, here, I'll type it. I can't say it. I'll type it.

03:24:28 - 03:24:30 | Speaker 8:

I think you can say it on American radio.

03:24:30 - 03:24:33 | Speaker 5:

I don't think. Let's just see what happens. I'm not getting scared.

03:24:33 - 03:24:34 | Speaker 8:

Richard, what's up? Richard.

03:24:36 - 03:25:09 | Speaker 1:

So, kind of funny story, super quick. my little sister at her wedding my son flipped me off out of fun and the photographer caught it like what's the one in million chance of that um but we're kind of like with what shannon said is i try to teach my son when and where to do things out of more being funny rather than sharing hate anger or frustration yeah and I use it as a way to take that moment to share better ways to show when you're angry and utilize it as being fun or funny.

03:25:09 - 03:25:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think that it's always, you know, fun and funny, like at a wedding situation, like you got the picture of that, like that's funny and stuff. And it's also fun when you do it to like to the opposing team that's, that's, that's playing the lions or something, but it's not good when you're flipping off the teacher in the back of the room and you get that phone call, right? Richard, hey, I need you to come to the principal's office.

03:25:33 - 03:25:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly.

03:25:34 - 03:25:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like, did you ever hear this, Kevin? Did you ever hear the, do you know the origins of the word balls on this radio show? I know it was Luke, right? Yeah. I don't know. Balls. This was, Luke was about ready to start school, and he was young. He was getting ready to go to a Catholic school, to Notre Dame. Yeah. What?

03:25:54 - 03:25:54 | Speaker 6:

Camera.

03:25:55 - 03:25:56 | Speaker 3:

It's not a camera.

03:25:56 - 03:26:03 | Speaker 6:

i'm gonna ask you a couple questions okay what you're getting ready to start kindergarten right

03:26:03 - 03:26:16 | Speaker 3:

yes yes and you're going to a new school right yes you nervous yes are you excited yes we have

03:26:16 - 03:26:34 | Speaker 2:

to talk about something what we have to talk about your use of the word balls balls you can't say that word when you're in school i know like what are some of the ways you've used that word before what have you said

03:26:34 - 03:26:52 | Speaker 5:

balls lacks and what else tree walls what else all right here's the deal you have to make me a promise

03:26:53 - 03:26:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay? I want you to raise your hand real quick. Say, I, Lucas.

03:26:59 - 03:27:06 | Speaker 6:

I, Lucas. Dad, Dad, I was in preschool without saying any F word.

03:27:07 - 03:27:12 | Speaker 2:

I know you didn't say any F word. This is a different word, though. This is as bad as the F word, okay?

03:27:12 - 03:27:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:27:13 - 03:27:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay, say, I, Lucas.

03:27:15 - 03:27:16 | Speaker 6:

I, Lucas.

03:27:17 - 03:27:18 | Speaker 2:

Do you promise?

03:27:19 - 03:27:19 | Speaker 6:

Do you promise?

03:27:19 - 03:27:26 | Speaker 3:

that the only time I will say the word balls say the only time I will say the word ball

03:27:26 - 03:27:26 | Speaker 6:

balls

03:27:26 - 03:27:31 | Speaker 3:

say the only time I will say the word

03:27:31 - 03:27:33 | Speaker 6:

I'll say the word

03:27:33 - 03:27:36 | Speaker 3:

balls will be in gym class

03:27:36 - 03:27:40 | Speaker 6:

I'll be in gym class how come I in gym class?

03:27:40 - 03:28:13 | Speaker 3:

because basketballs, football how great is that by the way? that's amazing I went through all of preschool without saying the F word He was so proud of himself too Listen, Josiah, by the way, has a better vocabulary Than I do And honestly, he's more mature than any of us On this show I think he's okay to go ahead and do it I think so I'm telling you, I still want to do the bit Where we have Josiah go to Kroger And just randomly start saying inappropriate stuff And then when people look at him like that's weird He can just be like, I'm a little man You know what I'm saying

03:28:13 - 03:28:17 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update On Mojo in the Morning

03:28:18 - 03:28:28 | Speaker 3:

Second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out for Nolan this morning who is getting ghosted. Nolan, what's going on? Good morning. How are you?

03:28:29 - 03:28:30 | Speaker 1:

Hello. Morning.

03:28:30 - 03:28:37 | Speaker 3:

How are you, Nolan? So, Nolan, you're not hearing back from a girl that you met. How did you guys meet?

03:28:39 - 03:28:41 | Speaker 1:

So we've been on Tinder, swiping.

03:28:42 - 03:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

03:28:43 - 03:28:46 | Speaker 1:

And, yeah, go for it.

03:28:46 - 03:28:53 | Speaker 3:

No, and what's been your relationship? You guys gone out on dates with each other? Are you guys just talking to each other?

03:28:54 - 03:29:15 | Speaker 1:

No, like, traditional dates. It definitely was what, you know, I think Tinder was set up to be. We were trying to just hook up. But then I accidentally started to really like her. So I was like, all right, let's keep doing this. Let's go out again. And I got her to go out with me again the same week. And I was like, okay, this is going in a good direction. So, you know, we've been seeing each other now for four weeks.

03:29:16 - 03:29:24 | Speaker 3:

All right, and now all of a sudden, after four weeks of seeing each other, she is nowhere to be found, and you're wondering what's going on.

03:29:25 - 03:29:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, full-blown ghosting.

03:29:28 - 03:29:29 | Speaker 3:

We're going to find out.

03:29:29 - 03:29:36 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I want to do more than hook up. You know, I don't want her seeing anybody else, and she's not answering my snaps, like, ever since Christmas.

03:29:36 - 03:29:45 | Speaker 3:

All right, well, we got her on the phone with us right now. Her name is Lena. Lena, are you okay with your voice on the radio? Yeah.

03:29:46 - 03:29:47 | Unknown:

Sure.

03:29:47 - 03:29:52 | Speaker 3:

Lena, could you hear Nolan on hold? Sometimes we have certain lines that don't have the holds on.

03:29:53 - 03:29:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, I heard him.

03:29:55 - 03:29:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, will you say hello to Nolan?

03:29:59 - 03:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Nolan.

03:30:00 - 03:30:01 | Speaker 3:

Hey

03:30:01 - 03:30:05 | Speaker 4:

Are you not answering my snaps?

03:30:08 - 03:30:15 | Speaker 3:

No No, I'm not I don't This is so weird Oh my god

03:30:15 - 03:30:25 | Speaker 6:

We kind of cut you off guard a little bit Yeah It's early and it's also weird That here we are contacting For Nolan

03:30:25 - 03:30:37 | Speaker 1:

But obviously there's a reason because you are acknowledging that you have an answer to snaps yeah i haven't um i don't i i

03:30:37 - 03:30:53 | Speaker 3:

don't know we're just i mean look we definitely have sexual chemistry but i just i feel like i need more than that you know what do you mean i'm sorry you you have sexual chemistry but you need

03:30:53 - 03:30:57 | Speaker 6:

more than that. Has your relationship only been about sex? Yeah.

03:30:57 - 03:31:18 | Speaker 3:

I mean, we met on Tinder and you know, we've hooked up a couple times and it is. It's great. We have sexual chemistry but I mean, we don't even go on dates and we lay in bed all the time and that's kind of it and I don't know. I just need somebody who matches my vibe.

03:31:19 - 03:31:28 | Speaker 6:

So your guys' dates, the dates that Nolan said you guys have gone on a couple of times, have been what? Just going to either your house or his house?

03:31:29 - 03:31:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they were just hookups.

03:31:31 - 03:31:32 | Speaker 6:

So you're just hooking up with each other?

03:31:33 - 03:31:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they weren't dates. I mean, I don't even have his number.

03:31:38 - 03:31:40 | Speaker 6:

Well, then how do you communicate with him if you don't have his number?

03:31:41 - 03:31:50 | Speaker 3:

On Snapchat. And I don't know. I mean, Snapchat is cool. It's fine. But it also like that feels like a red flag. Wait, why?

03:31:50 - 03:31:54 | Speaker 6:

Nolan, why do you guys not share your numbers with each other?

03:31:56 - 03:32:03 | Speaker 4:

Me and Snapchat, I feel like, you know, the next step after Tinder. It's kind of like, all right, let's move off this app. That's the next one.

03:32:03 - 03:32:06 | Speaker 6:

That's the next level. Okay, so you guys are at, all right.

03:32:06 - 03:32:10 | Speaker 2:

Once you see a naked body, don't you move up to phone numbers? I feel like...

03:32:10 - 03:32:13 | Speaker 5:

I mean, notification is a notification. Yeah.

03:32:13 - 03:32:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I like communicating, you know, with the photo. It's a little more personal. I feel like it's better than texting, and, you know, that it also usually leads to us linking up to, you know, hang out.

03:32:26 - 03:32:37 | Speaker 2:

No, and I'm not going to lie. I like your excuses, but if you had a phone number, you could FaceTime. So if you really want to see your face, you could do that. It just seems very sketchy that you only want to communicate on a means where it is erased.

03:32:37 - 03:32:58 | Speaker 1:

But also because you said that you want a relationship with her. You want to actually date her. You want to be, like you said, you only want to date her. But I feel like your behavior, like your actions show otherwise. You guys want the same thing. She said she wants more than to just hook up with you. So where is the miscommunication?

03:33:00 - 03:33:13 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if she wants my phone number, she can have my phone number anytime she asks for it. She's never asked for it. I'm right here. I'll Snapchat you my phone number.

03:33:13 - 03:33:26 | Speaker 6:

i like lena though that is that is actually a really good point if you wanted the phone number why didn't you say hey let's call each other was it his responsibility to say here's my phone number

03:33:26 - 03:33:41 | Speaker 3:

i mean was it his responsibility no did it seem like this is all that it was and that it was gonna run its course yeah so i let it run its course well that's the same logic with the dating

03:33:41 - 03:33:51 | Speaker 5:

then about you waiting around for him to ask for the phone number? Like, have you made mention that you wanted something more than a hookup? Are y'all meeting at the same place at the same time?

03:33:52 - 03:34:06 | Speaker 3:

No. I mean, I don't know. I guess I mean, the chemistry's there. I just don't I don't know, but we don't really talk about anything. Well, now we're talking about it.

03:34:07 - 03:34:35 | Speaker 6:

So, Nolan, you haven't offered more than just sex like you got in i don't blame you fully for this i think that lena's got to be a little bit more vocal about what she's hoping for and also maybe not just go for sex each time i don't know i just think that both you guys if you guys want something more then just don't stop calling him like just say hey listen i want more than this and i get sometimes that's the hardest part to do

03:34:35 - 03:34:41 | Speaker 2:

but why is it on her if he's not offering anything and she's the one that left it's not

03:34:41 - 03:34:59 | Speaker 6:

well it's it's on both of them but i will say this she's the one that that's what she wanted maybe he doesn't maybe he is miss got miscues from her that all she wanted was to to have sex if i was if and and i'm not on snapchat but if i was on snapchat i would think that that was all we're doing is

03:35:00 - 03:35:15 | Speaker 3:

just you know we're just f buddies you know and we're just doing that snapchat doesn't scream relationship to me although some people may be screaming at their radios right now saying different call us 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 hunter let's get some comments from listeners

03:35:15 - 03:35:54 | Speaker 8:

what's going on hunter what are your thoughts i kind of agree with somebody said uh about the whole snapchat and the photo thing because i get the point with facetime but with facetime i feel like i can't do anything else whilst i'm on the phone i feel like i have to pay attention completely and like it's not even it's not even throw out the facetime comment you guys could text yeah that's snapchat well you could you could send a text and you know she'll be doing stuff and when i'm on facetime i feel like my attention has to be with that person otherwise it's rude and that's just kind of personal like kind of opinion but you know that's just kind of how i

03:35:54 - 03:36:00 | Speaker 2:

deal. But if you wanted to date somebody, would you only exclusively talk to them via Snapchat?

03:36:02 - 03:36:04 | Speaker 3:

No. That's the

03:36:04 - 03:36:05 | Speaker 2:

point. We're getting hooked up on FaceTime.

03:36:06 - 03:36:22 | Speaker 8:

I met my girlfriend on Hinge and, you know, we started on Snapchat and then eventually we wanted to, you know, hey, let's talk on FaceTime so we can get a little bit more familiar with each other. And then, like, we went on a date. And then it goes, yeah. So we had already had each other's numbers. But Megan,

03:36:22 - 03:36:30 | Speaker 3:

is it on Nolan to be the one to say, this is what I want next, she should have just said it to him. This is what I want. No, you're blaming her for

03:36:30 - 03:36:32 | Speaker 2:

leaving because she's not interested because he didn't

03:36:32 - 03:36:38 | Speaker 3:

be in it. No, I'm blaming her for if she wanted more and wanted more of a relationship, tell him. Just say something. She's not

03:36:38 - 03:36:47 | Speaker 2:

the one reaching out to us saying, I got ghosted. What am I going to do? He did. He dropped the ball. She said, I wanted more. You weren't offering what I was interested in. I've moved on.

03:36:48 - 03:36:49 | Speaker 3:

Brandy, what's up? Your thoughts?

03:36:50 - 03:36:51 | Speaker 2:

Hey, y'all. Have a good day.

03:36:52 - 03:36:54 | Speaker 6:

Alright, thanks. Hey, y'all. Good morning. Oh, I think she's talking to us.

03:36:55 - 03:36:57 | Speaker 3:

Who are you talking to? Where are you at? Are you working and doing this?

03:36:57 - 03:37:18 | Speaker 6:

I'm at Maya. No, I'm leaving Maya. I have to drop my baby off at school. I think that they will be okay, though. I think that they just need to work on communication. It sounds like it's the biggest problem here. It sounds like he wants what she wants. Exactly. But she's not being vocal about it, and he's not being more dominant and aggressive about it. It sounds like she kind of wants...

03:37:18 - 03:37:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he said it right before we picked her up. That's what he said. He said he wanted more.

03:37:21 - 03:37:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay, I didn't hear I was going to say it.

03:37:22 - 03:37:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, no, no, you're right. It was exactly what he wants. He wants more. What's up, Danny?

03:37:28 - 03:37:29 | Speaker 7:

Hey, good morning, Mojo.

03:37:30 - 03:37:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning. What's going on?

03:37:32 - 03:37:49 | Speaker 7:

Listen, I might be old-fashioned, but I haven't seen it. Listen to the females on your show. They're all telling him, basically, take charge. Like, I don't know, what happened to men need things? You know, like, he's basically telling him, hey, you know, we did hook up. Now, let's move on to the next level. And this guy's talking Snapchat. Well, grow up.

03:37:50 - 03:37:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well.

03:37:51 - 03:38:00 | Speaker 4:

Wow, thanks. We got strong, vibrant women on this radio show.

03:38:02 - 03:38:13 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I will say this, though. I disagree completely with the women on the show, Megan specifically, that the guy, if he wanted more, he should have said more.

03:38:13 - 03:38:14 | Speaker 4:

How do you disagree with that?

03:38:15 - 03:38:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, I'm saying I disagree with Megan saying that I'm just not going to call him anymore. Why ruin what could be a good relationship? If she likes him and enjoyed being with him, why not say, hey, is it his responsibility to say, here's my phone number?

03:38:30 - 03:38:52 | Speaker 2:

She said they had sexual chemistry. Chemistry. Not that she was into him or liked him, liked him. You can be sexually attracted to somebody or very compatible in the bedroom, but not want to date or like the person themselves. Maybe that was the case. Maybe they were having a lot of fun at night, and then it sucked during the day when he wasn't communicating.

03:38:53 - 03:39:03 | Speaker 3:

Were you guys communicating during the day, or were you just talking on Snapchat? A couple times. Just Snapchat, okay. It's hard to take it serious with a puppy filter on.

03:39:03 - 03:39:20 | Speaker 4:

I also think everybody, and I include myself in this because this is something that constantly comes up in my relationship, but if you want something, you have to be very clear and ask for it. The risk of making an assumption that the other person can read your mind, it never works out well. Whitney says exactly.

03:39:20 - 03:39:22 | Speaker 3:

You can't hold people to certain standards that you don't communicate. Right.

03:39:23 - 03:39:36 | Speaker 1:

But I feel like if you want someone, you want someone. So if the guy is not reaching out and planning actual dates and doing stuff with you and wanting to have another way of communicating with you, shouldn't they do it? Like, why should she have to ask him?

03:39:36 - 03:39:42 | Speaker 3:

He's doing it right now. He's calling us up. He says he still wants a relationship with her. I don't know. Whitney, what's up? What were you going to say, Whitney?

03:39:43 - 03:40:00 | Speaker 5:

i mean i basically agree with the women i feel like i mean i hate to say it not to sound type sexist but it's the same way he called you guys why didn't he be more aggressive with her and be like well what's your number let's go on a date let's see what's going on

03:40:00 - 03:40:02 | Speaker 7:

Like, we expect that from the man a lot of times.
