00:00:35 - 00:00:37 | Speaker 4:

Juliana, maybe we can ask an actual human.

00:00:37 - 00:00:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes, because I have questions and I bet you do too. Like, is it normal to sleep in separate bedrooms? We do that and I still need to know why my poop's been green.

00:00:46 - 00:00:51 | Speaker 4:

We've got actual people answering these exact questions. Listen to Bill and Juliana.

00:04:39 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask you guys a question? Yes Do any of you still have your Christmas trees up?

00:04:43 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 5:

No, we took it down this weekend

00:04:45 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 1:

You did? Yeah I have everything else, you have yours up? I do. Okay good, I'm not the only one I took everything down All of my Christmas decorations down, like in the days after Christmas, my tree's still up. And I looked at it yesterday after the show. I'm like, come on, Sam. That's the motivation to take this thing down. Why did you stop? You had everything else done.

00:05:05 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 2:

Why did you stop at the tree?

00:05:06 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 1:

Because that took so long, and then I was like, I'm good. I'll do the tree another day. Well, I still haven't done the tree. You know what it is? I put a bunch of tinsel on my tree this year because Shani's granny used to do that. And so I'm like, oh, I'm going to, you know, remember Shani's granny this year. And I just, I know it's going to be so much cleanup and such a headache.

00:05:25 - 00:05:28 | Speaker 3:

You know you do? You take your vacuum and just go.

00:05:28 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 1:

I think it would ruin my vacuum. I know, but that's all right.

00:05:31 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Just go get a new one.

00:05:33 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

00:05:35 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

So do you put your Christmas tree in a bag or a box? Yes.

00:05:40 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 1:

I bought one of those big bags from that at-home superstore, and I store it in that. But I just have zero motivation. I was looking at it this morning when I was making coffee, and I'm like, maybe I'll be one of those people that makes it into a Valentine's Day tree.

00:05:55 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God, don't do that.

00:05:56 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

Because I really have zero motivation to take this thing apart.

00:05:59 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 2:

What do they say is the etiquette? It's the 12 days after Christmas or something? For Catholics, it's the 6th, right?

00:06:05 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 3:

Feast of the Little of... It's Little Christmas.

00:06:08 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

Somebody told me it's bad luck to still have it up. And if that's true, my butt will get into gear and I will take it down after the show today.

00:06:15 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

My friend of the family's Kathy has a Christmas room. It's the greatest thing ever. She's got a three-bedroom place and she doesn't have anybody in two of the bedrooms. So she just puts all of her Christmas stuff in that room closes the door locks it and then just pulls it out the tree is already decorated

00:06:35 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

oh that's nice though if you don't have to fluff the tree and put every single ornament on every

00:06:40 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 3:

year although let me say something about reese because reese says i still have my christmas tree out is it the tree that i is it the tree that i gave you uh no i actually did you get a big tree uh my sister had a spare this year so she gave me yeah her old one so it's not a really fancy one but it works because i was gonna say the tree that i gave you was literally the size of this water bottle no i've never taken that one down that one's staying up all year mine was gone

00:07:01 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 2:

12 hours after christmas oh my gosh i didn't ask for that no it was my girlfriend i because christmas morning i flew to philadelphia to spend christmas with my parents and my kids and she had the house to herself she completely took christmas down everything including the tree i told her don't touch the tree when i get back i'll do it i don't want you messing with that big tree nine nine and a half feet tall she did the whole thing the next morning she was like i just she just wanted it clean she was sick of looking at it that's usually me i'm just dragging my feet this year but i when i flew back on the 30th i thought we were robbed it looked like the

00:07:39 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 3:

house was so empty it is weird it's so weird when the tree is gone and then you put whatever furniture is in that spot or you have nothing that's but you're like oh my god i actually told chelsea's like we got to call tom the electrician and see if we can get more lights because I feel like my house is dark now because the tree is gone because we were using the tree pretty much as a light. Yeah, it's nice.

00:08:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 1:

And you put yours, like, right in the middle of your living room, right?

00:08:05 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I have it right there in the middle of the living room.

00:08:07 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

The window, yeah.

00:08:08 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

You should see all the pee marks from Henry and Louie.

00:08:12 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, around the tree?

00:08:13 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Yeah. Well, the good thing is we have this, like, thing at the bottom of the tree. It's like the silver thing. So they were peeing on the silver thing that's around the bottom of the tree That's like the metal piece I'm like, we got you bastards In the past

00:08:29 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Did you get them? Oh yeah There's still pee all over the floor

00:08:31 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 3:

No, because I just clean it off really quick I'm like, going on But Mojo in the morning, what's going on? Poncho, do you have your tree up still? No, I've had mine down since the day after Christmas If she didn't want, she can hear me I'll come take it down Oh

00:08:47 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

How much do you charge?

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

What's your rate?

00:08:51 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

Case of beer.

00:08:52 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 3:

What about the outside lights? When do you have to take those outside lights off? Mine are gone. Really?

00:08:57 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 1:

Like, totally everything else is.

00:08:58 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 3:

But your outside lights are gone because you do commercials for that company. She wasn't out there the latter.

00:09:04 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

Pink pro holiday lights came and took them down already. They were wonderful.

00:09:06 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, if you had to do it.

00:09:08 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Truly wonderful.

00:09:08 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Would they really be down right now? Probably not. You can hire Poncho as your other guy. You have the pink pro guys and you have Poncho. Poncho and the pink pro guys.

00:09:16 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

I did the last of my lights yesterday because it was so nice. I was like, we're not going to get another sunny, warm day like this for a while. I'm going to do it all.

00:09:22 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

I think you can keep them for longer if you want. The outside lights aren't as bad. I don't think people need to turn those off. I do enjoy them.

00:09:30 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 2:

Depends. Like, white Christmas lights are classic and timeless, I think. But if you've got an inflatable Grinch, you've got to take that down.

00:09:36 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Mojo on the morning show. What's going on, Daniela? Hello. Hi.

00:09:41 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 1:

I love you guys.

00:09:42 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning. When do you take your tree down?

00:09:47 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

February 2nd. So, Shannon, you are okay. Why? I'm from Mexico. I'm from Mexico. And in Mexico, there's a tradition that on January 6th, you kind of...

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 3:

You've got the three kings.

00:10:04 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 1:

That's right, the Feast of the Three Kings.

00:10:07 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and if you get the baby Jesus, you have to throw a party on February 2nd. So the tree has to stay up until that day.

00:10:16 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

But wait a second.

00:10:17 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 3:

If you're not that love, you're fine.

00:10:18 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 1:

So what did you say there, though? You said if you get the baby Jesus? What does that mean?

00:10:23 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, inside the bread, there's little toys. And they are plastic baby Jesus. So if you get it inside the bread when you cut it, you have to throw a potty with tamales.

00:10:38 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. I want to come to your house.

00:10:41 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 2:

But what if you accidentally swallow the baby Jesus?

00:10:44 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 4:

My friend Jorge brought it to work and explained the whole thing to us. I thought I was going to choke on it.

00:10:50 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 3:

People do that to avoid throwing the potty. Oh.

00:10:56 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 1:

How does the baby Jesus feel about that? I can't imagine the baby Jesus is happy that they're lying about them. Well, it sounds good. Where are you? What town are you in?

00:11:07 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

I live in Washington Township, driving to Novi for work.

00:11:11 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, what a long commute. We love people like you.

00:11:13 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Can we come over for tamales? Do you make good tamales?

00:11:17 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 3:

February 2nd. All right. You guys got invited. I'm writing it down.

00:11:20 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 1:

February 2nd, Daniela in Washington Township. I'm not going to forget about this, okay?

00:11:27 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay, guys. Thank you. Have a good day.

00:11:30 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 1:

Hey, take care of yourself. Or you could be like Greg, Shannon. Greg?

00:11:35 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning.

00:11:37 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 1:

Tell everybody about your decorative fun home.

00:11:41 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, don't feel bad. I have Halloween, like, still up from 2019, and Christmas lights up from 2020.

00:11:47 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Oh, jeez. Definitely. I mean, ooh. Come on, get that thing out of there. Get it out of there. What just happened?

00:11:55 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 1:

That was by the way That's because if it was Halloween There's a demon inside Shannon right now Well Your neighbors must love you Like I always think that the person In the neighborhood that does that That has their Halloween stuff up

00:12:13 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 4:

There's still one rotten pumpkin in my neighborhood

00:12:16 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 5:

I've got a very long front porch And so we've got Four floodlights up there And I pulled them all out and put those of a decorative fire flickering LED lights in, and we never took them down.

00:12:31 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:12:31 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 5:

And then I've got a two-story house, and I've got a steep pitch. And a couple years ago, I rented a lift and put lights up on the gutters around the second story, and my butt's not getting up on the roof to pull them down.

00:12:43 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 4:

But do you still turn them on all the time, or they're just there?

00:12:48 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes they – well, my wife forgot to unplug them because I'm a truck driver. I'm over the road, and the second story was on for like a month.

00:12:57 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Man.

00:12:59 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 5:

So, of course, I show up, and they're still on in the middle of the day, and I'm like, is anybody else going to pay the electric bill?

00:13:05 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, I got my gas and my electric bill. I cannot believe how much money. It was more than double this year than it was last year, and there's just three of us in our house. And last year, I think we had more people even come over for the holidays and stuff but i cannot believe i have you guys seen your electric bill or your gas bill uh

00:13:27 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 2:

i don't know dude mine comes out of your thing my dte bill just is automatically yeah but i do you don't look at the bills at all i look at it when i get it in my email yes i and i don't think

00:13:39 - 00:14:04 | Speaker 1:

i've gotten one for this oh it's it's it's insane i actually uh uh called a friend of mine who works for um consumers and i said what's the story with this and they're like well that's a sign of the times everything's more expensive right now but i could not believe and after seeing that i'm like i ain't putting anything out we're not turning any lights off i'm like that i'm like my dad now shutting lights off around the house and you know keeping it all right we don't need that right

00:14:04 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

there that scares me because this was the most christmas lights i've ever ever had in my house

00:14:08 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 1:

so now i i'm worried about getting that go look at it or go or wait till you wait till you get it and tell me what it was different compared to last year jacob yes what's happening How's it going? Hey, we're talking about taking your Christmas tree down. I didn't realize this, but Friday was National Take Christmas Tree Day down. How come we didn't notice that? We should have told Shannon that before the weekend. Yeah.

00:14:34 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was actually calling. My wife actually decorates for every holiday, like 4th of July and all that stuff.

00:14:41 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 1:

Really? So do you guys have all your stuff up, or are you guys pretty good about putting it up and taking it down?

00:14:47 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 4:

She leaves it up all year long and decorates it for every holiday. Yeah, so she has, like, a Valentine's tree right now.

00:14:53 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it is, or is it still New Year?

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

It's still Christmas one, but she'll probably eventually get to the Valentine's.

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 2:

day one. Yeah. Do people just think you guys are lazy, or do they think you're festive?

00:15:05 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I think she's festive. I mean, props to her. At least I don't have to take it down.

00:15:10 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 3:

That's all he's worried about.

00:15:12 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 2:

I will tell you this, though. Taking it down is so much better than putting it up. For some reason, this year, taking it down was, oh, really? I thought this year, Chelsea was like, we're taking the tree down. I'm like, oh, I was dreading it. And then doing it and helping her out and putting the stuff away, it made me feel so much better than putting it up.

00:15:30 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 3:

Nothing ever seems to fit in the boxes the same way. That's true. I'm like, how do we have more stuff? It all came out of these three boxes. Why won't it fit back in these three boxes?

00:15:38 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 2:

I just felt so good about it. I don't know. Yesterday, I cleaned out our garage, and then today I got to do more dropping off at Goodwill and stuff. I'm trying to get rid of crap, and it's now at a point where if you are one of my two older sons who have not lived in my house in a while, Jacob's way still at school, and Joe's been gone for a while. If you're not there and it's your stuff, it doesn't belong to you anymore. I take, what do they call possession is five-tenths or nine-tenths of the law? I only thought it was five-tenths, but I'll take nine-tenths. That's better. So I'm just, like, getting rid of crap all the time. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:16:18 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 5:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the Morning's back in the day. We have to go back in time. where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:27 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 2:

President Obama was sworn in for his second term in office this year.

Despicable Me. I have kids at home.

00:17:48 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 2:

00:18:34 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:18:36 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 2:

All right, so got a fun little contest that we like to call the 5S655. And Ethan has been just awesome. Well, if you listen to The Dirty on the 30s, you actually could be awesome, too. And we need a challenger this morning. So call 844-665-6548. That's 844-MOJO-LIVE. And you could be on with us in just moments for the 5 of 655. Right now, Shannon's got to look at what's trending. So call and then also listen, because you might actually get a question or two out of this.

00:19:08 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 6:

You usually do. Start with a little uh-oh. The Department of Justice has launched an investigation to review how in the heck some classified documents from Joe Biden's vice presidency were found in a Washington, D.C. office for his think tank. Attorney General Merrick Garland has called in the U.S. attorney in Chicago to review the 10 files discovered by Biden's personal attorneys at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. I don't really know. It's unclear what sort of info these classified documents contain, but it follows the raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort last year. The report stated that the documents were found while Biden's attorneys were packing up the office to leave. Yeah, right. Legal experts note that presidents have the constitutional and statutory power to deco.

00:20:00 - 00:20:17 | Speaker 1:

declassify and take records when they leave office, vice presidents do not. So this is a big deal we'll be hearing more about. You're a stupid son of a bitch. Yes, thank you. Do you guys remember, I think it was almost 10 years ago now, when Kim Kardashian got flower-bombed at the launch of her perfume, True Reflection.

00:20:18 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it happened to like three or four celebrities that year. She was one of them. They'd walk up the red carpets and people would dump a bag of flower on them.

00:20:24 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 1:

Right, right. Well, her former media strategist claims Kim was 100% in on it. Shiraz Hassan, a PR professional who worked with Kim starting in the early 2000s, is now talking for whatever reason. Says the whole thing was an inside job. He said he had discussions with Kim and her team. And she was willing to get flower bombed before the launch so it would be all over the media. Thus giving lots of publicity and focus to her new perfume. The incident was also included on season seven of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, if you were a frequent watcher of that. So he claims he told Kim at the time, okay, so this is what's going to happen. You're going to be fine. You're going to be safe. We are going to create a media moment. If we create media gold, guess what's going to happen? Everybody's going to be talking about your perfume, and everybody's going to go out and buy it. So when the attack happened, if you remember, everybody thought it was a PETA activist who was behind this thing as the organization was constantly calling out Kim's love of real fur at the time. But nope, the woman who did the flower bombing, by the way, was detained that day until police arrived, but Kim just chose not to press charges against her.

00:21:38 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, obviously. Right. Somebody that was friends with her or something.

00:21:42 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 1:

Right, right, right. So quick celebrity baby news, and I'll make it quick because I know Mojo despises celebrity baby news.

00:21:48 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 3:

In this day and age of bad news, It's nice to have happiness. Okay.

00:21:52 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 1:

So, former Homeland star Claire Danes and actor Hugh Dancy are currently expecting their third child. They already have two little boys. Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder and Twilight star Nikki Reed are expecting baby number two. And SWAT and Criminal Minds actor the very hot Shamar Moore revealed he is just one month away from becoming a dad, a girl dad. He's 52 years old, by the way. He's going to be a daddy.

00:22:16 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's too pretty to stop procreating.

00:22:18 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 1:

He is.

00:22:18 - 00:22:21 | Speaker 3:

He needs to keep on making more babies. Very true.

00:22:22 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 1:

And lastly, Miley Cyrus sharing a clip on social media of herself in the shower singing her new song. It's called Flowers, giving us a little sneak peek. That single is scheduled to drop on Friday. Oh, here you go. What? Is that girl on fire? It sounds super familiar, right?

00:22:48 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 3:

We'll hear the song on Friday. It sounds like Alicia Keys.

00:22:56 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. I feel like it sounds like a Rihanna song.

00:22:59 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 3:

What is it? What song do you think it is?

00:23:04 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 2:

Yes, Shannon, that's it.

00:23:06 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 1:

One of the new Rihanna songs from Wakanda Forever. Yes, yes. Doesn't it?

00:23:10 - 00:23:19 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Really? The one we saw was the funeral song, but it wasn't. Yes, yes. What song is that? Oh, the first one we premiered. I don't even know.

00:23:19 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:23:20 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 1:

But when I heard it, I was like, this is her new song?

00:23:22 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 3:

Huh. Hold on. I'm trying to Google it now. Good call. Lift me up. Lift me up. Was that it? Yes. All right, hold on. Let me find it here. Lift me up.

00:23:31 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 4:

Good call, Shannon. Oh, that was driving me nuts.

00:23:35 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:23:35 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 1:

I know I was listening to it this morning going.

00:23:37 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 3:

Standby. Standby. All right, hold on. I'm going to play the Miley one more time. Okay. And then we'll play the Wakanda Forever one. Here we go.

00:23:48 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 5:

It's like if this song had a baby with Shakira's song from Madagascar.

00:24:12 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 4:

If these two songs were mixed together.

00:24:14 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 3:

Maybe it's not her premiere of her new song Maybe it's her just singing in the shower

00:24:20 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 1:

No, she wrote flowers in the caption Look at her Instagram

00:24:24 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 2:

And this is her singing in the shower It might be a rock song when it comes out

00:24:27 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 1:

Everybody's saying it sounds like Bruno Mars When I was your man Or if I was your man Whenever the heck that Bruno Mars song is Wow, that's what you're saying Yeah, alright For all of today's dirty Check out the dirty page on mojointhemorning.com

00:24:56 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show, so Tony wants us to phone scam Claudia.

00:25:00 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 1:

they just rescued a cat, and Spike is going to call and make it seem like they are committing a lease violation by having this animal. It's Mojo in the Morning, phone scam, 5 at 6.55. Coming up here in a second, we'll see if Ethan can win another game.

00:25:17 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams, Mojo in the Morning.

00:25:30 - 00:26:42 | Speaker 2:

hello yeah how you doing is this claudia miles in 232 east yes it is hi this is gomez downstairs what's your cat's name uh tabasco who is this gomez adams from an apartment complex i'm in the rental office downstairs oh okay hi good hi do you have a second to talk sure what's up well i'm calling about your clear disregard for the rules and to let you know if we don't have compliance you're going to be facing some huge fines or possibly eviction and that said i don't see the need to be so drastic we're just trying to be patient and work with our tenants because we're finding that almost half of those we've contacted didn't read the lease and weren't aware of the policy change i'm so sorry what is what did i miss well we have a new pets policy and they haven't been allowed since the first of last month wait can you repeat that please we have a new pets policy pets are no longer allowed in the building and it's been that way since the first of last month so we've had this cat since before then let me just stop you right there and so i can say i don't care to hear your story i'm just telling you the cat's not allowed

00:26:42 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 3:

to be in the building anymore okay i mean even before this cat we had a cat before that and And that's the reason we got a new cat is because the last one passed away. I don't understand.

00:26:55 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 2:

So you've had this cat for what? How long?

00:26:58 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, this cat we got two months ago. So before the policy was in place, we already had the cat.

00:27:03 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 2:

Right. Yeah, I don't care. I'm just trying to figure out for this new lease, if you read it, we've got to charge you $25 a day for the cat that you've had against the rules. So I'll have to figure out the total there.

00:27:14 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. No, I can't. I mean, that's absurd.

00:27:17 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, you signed the lease agreement. It's all in there.

00:27:20 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 3:

No, you can't just start charging me.

00:27:23 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 2:

What, do you just sign things without reading them?

00:27:26 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Tony signed the lease. Tony's my boyfriend. He's the one that is on the lease, and he's the one that signed it.

00:27:32 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 2:

And so the apartment's not even under your name? Yeah. And you're living there with a cat?

00:27:38 - 00:27:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, I mean, Tony had the apartment, and then I moved in with him.

00:27:43 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay, you aren't the stupidest person on the planet, but you better hope to God that they don't die. because what you just admitted to that's illegal that's a federal offense what you're not visiting you you're staying there that you should be on the lease as well

00:27:58 - 00:28:10 | Speaker 3:

well i mean i can get on the lease that's fine but like i i don't it was never a secret that i moved in no one ever told us anything about having that i needed to be on the lease as well

00:28:10 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 2:

it's all in the paperwork everybody just signs things without reading it's a legal document

00:28:17 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but, I mean, you read it, but, like.

00:28:19 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 2:

That's your defense, but, like.

00:28:21 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I don't know what you want me to say here. This is, like, I mean, I've been living here for, like, two years. Don't you think at some point somebody should have said something to me before two years?

00:28:32 - 00:28:45 | Speaker 2:

There's, like, 800 units in this property. We're supposed to walk around and keep track of everybody who's leaving every day, who's coming and going? Okay, well, I'm going to talk to Tony about this, and we're going to get this all straightened out. You don't have to get straightened out.

00:28:45 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 3:

get a moving van you're out evicted you are mental like this is not a professional way to deal with people like i don't know who you think you are this is not okay i think i'm being nice

I don't want you to go anywhere, because I need your participation on something here. It's Mojo in the Morning. got a lot of uh teachers we got a lot of parents getting ready for school so i wanted to tell this story and i want to know if you have a story that relates to it to call us up 844-665-6548 844 mojo live so do you guys you know when you binge watch television you you know and you're watching a show especially a show that might be a little bit too much for like young kids do you do it before uh you know like you do it like when the kids go to bed is that kind of your time and have you ever by the way just tried to put your kids to bed like really early like i i can remember like sneaking the clocks to make the kids go to bed at like seven o'clock at night because i wanted to you know get to the watching the show so friends of ours have two really young cute kids and um they are like they're to me the highest energy children i've ever seen especially our our little danny well these uh friends of ours are great parents and they put their kids to bed so that they could lay in bed and no not do what you think watch white lotus that's all they wanted to do was binge watch white lotus so yeah it's the best by the way right uh did you finally get through the whole thing yes yes i was just i was disappointed at the the ending i know that you loved it i thought it was so good it was unexpected and that's what i love so they're laying in bed and they're watching white lotus and they're probably about three episodes in you know uh to the show that evening when they heard a like little noise like a like a shocking noise and they get up and like what the heck is that and look and danny is laying on the floor in front of the television watching with them he had been on the floor watching for a very long period of time that is impressive it's amazing isn't it honestly give danny applause on the fact that he was quiet but that show especially season two so not appropriate so yes and and uh danny's mom was not uh not happy danny you got to go to bed well danny had a ton of questions to ask about white

00:37:53 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

lotus and so danny's mom especially the season and i won't give out the the what what exactly happen but in season two there's a scene where there's a lot of people that end up getting shot okay that's all I'm going to say I don't give the actual who the people are right but that's going to give you did I give out too much information that was kind of a lot okay well let me just say this to you Danny asked the question why did they shoot all those people he's going to go to school and talk all about it to his teachers and his mom is like the sweetest lady ever and she's got a real sweet voice she goes well Danny she didn't know them all or something like that like she didn't know what to say and then puts him to bed well Danny goes to school the next day and tells his teacher everything that happened in a white house so guess who got a phone call from the teacher Danny's mom got a phone call from Danny's teacher at his school and the craziest thing of this is that she now shares with Chelsea like Chelsea is kind of like her i i call it like it's your mentor parent because you know like we've had our kids years ago and it's kind of like when you have kids and they're your younger kids and you have an experience like that you don't know what to do usually what you do is you call somebody that has experienced that before and said what do i do is the teacher now think i'm you know this horrible parent whatever and chelsea's like ah it's okay don't worry about it you should have heard what happened when we were when our kids you know what i mean like go through the whole balls yeah right balls exactly right um so i want to ask this question just to make them feel better okay to make mom and dad feel better about this teachers call us up or parents you can call us up too and tell us what did your kids go to school and tell the class about the next day that probably is something that they shouldn't have said 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number because I will say this. You've got to make sure that your door is locked if you're watching White Lotus.

00:40:00 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 8:

That's all I'm going to say Make sure that your kids are locked in bed You know what you should put on? You should have motion detecting in your house Put on a motion detector alarm system So that the alarm goes off If those little footsteps end up making their way down to your bedroom I can only imagine That there are some parents That have probably been caught baking cookies By their kids Don't you think?

00:40:23 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh for sure

00:40:24 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 8:

And you only hope that they don't go to school the next day and tell the teacher about that. I saw a daddy hugging mommy in a very interesting way.

00:40:35 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 7:

They were rustling in their bed.

00:40:37 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 1:

Meg's son has one of those noise machines in his bedroom. And so, I tell you, you hear it coming out from the hallway. So we would never hear little footsteps. Oh, that's great. Is it for that purpose? Well, no. Well, no, that's dangerous. To help him sleep, but it's bad. It's not great, because someday we're going to be surprised. Oh, okay. Our bedroom door is open and there's, you know, noise out there. You don't hear somebody get out of bed.

00:41:02 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I thought that you would hear the noise machine playing. That's how, that's the forewarning if he opens up his door. What's going on, Mojo in the morning show? How you doing there, Ann?

00:41:13 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. So we had a small TV in our kitchen and a little love seat. And so my son curled up one night after his snack and his PJs and watched a movie and he fell asleep. So the next morning, he went to school and told the teacher, I slept in the kitchen last night. She's thinking, did you not eat your broccoli? Like, did you sleep with your head on the table? What happened? So she didn't call me, but at parent-teacher's conferences, she says, now, does he sleep in the kitchen a lot? I'm like, oh, my God, she told them that he slept with your head.

00:41:46 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 8:

That's so funny. What's going on, Sydney? How are you?

00:41:49 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 7:

I'm good. How are you?

00:41:50 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 8:

Good. Are you calling up because you're the parent or are you a teacher?

00:41:54 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 7:

I am actually the kid.

00:41:56 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 8:

Oh, really? Okay, so you went to school and said something in class.

00:42:00 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 7:

I did, yeah. So growing up in preschool, we listened to musicals. That was the go-to.

00:42:07 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:42:07 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 7:

So in Miss Saigon, there's a line that goes, I'm surrounded by losers and horrors.

00:42:14 - 00:42:24 | Speaker 8:

Yes. Yes. That's all you need to say? My dad's got a call. Yeah. Yeah. That's great. Oh, my God. What's going on, Marie?

00:42:25 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

00:42:26 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 8:

Hi. What did your daughter do?

00:42:29 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 4:

So my daughter went camping with us and our friends, and she told her teacher that she played beer darts with Daddy and his friends. Yeah.

00:42:39 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 8:

And how did you find out about that? Did the teacher tell you at parent-teacher conferences or call you?

00:42:45 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 4:

She kind of called and was like, so this is what your child said. And I was like, of course she did, because why would she not tell everybody that secret?

00:42:53 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 8:

That's funny. What's happening? Shannon, hi.

00:42:58 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So my daughter was about four years old doing Red Rhythm Week, and we got a phone call from the teacher because they were talking about smoking cigarettes and things like that, and my daughter told her teacher and the guidance counselor and the officer that my husband and I do drugs because we smoked. So luckily we had a good relationship with the teacher, And she called us and she's like, I just want you to know what Sidney Clare had said. And yeah.

00:43:26 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 8:

Oh, wow. Oh, well, yeah. How long ago was that?

00:43:31 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 2:

So my daughter's 10 and she was probably six when that happened.

00:43:35 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 8:

So it was years ago that this happened. Because it's interesting. I wonder nowadays with marijuana being legal in Michigan, I wonder how many kids go to school and talk or smell like weed.

00:43:47 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm sure that's a big one.

00:43:49 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 8:

I still want to hear some teachers. I want to hear what's going on. Oh, we got a teacher right here. Abby, are you there?

00:43:55 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 3:

Hi, yeah. I'm a preschool teacher, and we were learning about the letter P, and I was like, does anyone have any letter P words? One of the girls goes, porn. So parent-teacher conferences are going to be hilarious.

00:44:11 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 8:

They didn't cover that word in Sesame Street, did they?

00:44:17 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, I know what Dad does now.

00:44:19 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 8:

yeah speaking of that carla hi hi we're talking about when kids go to school and tell the school something that happened at home and it's usually inappropriate what happened it was actually day

00:44:34 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 6:

care and at the time when like porn was still on like actual physical dvd she took that to school and was showing it or to daycare and showing it to everybody at daycare oh my god it was a little show and tell huh it was and you can only imagine by the title when i walked into daycare to pick her up and the lady said well can we have a talk you know we found this video and then says the name and i'm like oh my god

00:45:00 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 5:

is the name if you know if you can say it black oh yeah yep yep yep oh goodness gracious teachers keep a straight face when they did i'm pretty sure she wanted to laugh she didn't make me feel

00:45:16 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 4:

like it's not really that big of a deal but just so you should know you might have some parents

00:45:21 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 1:

follow you katie your voice disguised how are you good morning how are you good you're a teacher

00:45:30 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 3:

yes fifth grader um and do you remember when power first started up and no sex scenes and that show was like ridiculously crazy yeah so on a monday morning one of the students he's coming And they're like, yeah, I watch Power. And guess what? And they was in the window and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And I'm standing there like, what the hell? All in the parents like, yeah, you might not want to let your child watch Power because he just came to school and told the whole thing. He didn't say nothing about who got killed. Everything was just all about the sex.

00:46:12 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if it was the same situation as what happened to our friends where the kid just snuck in and they didn't know that the kid was watching or was the kid watching?

00:46:19 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 3:

No, the mom, no, no. She wasn't surprised.

00:46:23 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Oh, my God. That's awful. Teacher Nicole, what's happening?

00:46:29 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:46:30 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 1:

How are you?

00:46:31 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

00:46:33 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 1:

Good. What did a kid come into school the next day and talk about?

00:46:37 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 2:

So when I first started teaching out, I'm young, not really sure, you know, what we're doing when we first start teaching and right before conferences this little boy comes in and he kept falling asleep so i finally asked him i'm like buddy why are you so tired and he says my mom and dad are up all night jumping on the bed and i just can't sleep

00:46:58 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 4:

oh my god yeah oh no so how do you bring that up at conference did you bring it up at conferences

00:47:06 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, thankfully, they didn't show up for conferences.

00:47:11 - 00:47:13 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, you know what they were doing. The house was empty.

00:47:13 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Right.

00:47:15 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. A little preoccupied.

00:47:17 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Misfit Nicole. We go back-to-back with Nicole's, but there's only one misfit, Nicole. What's up?

00:47:25 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Nicole. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Happy New Year.

00:47:28 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 1:

Happy New Year. What's going on? We're talking about this, and this actually works because Nicole actually works in a school. What's going on? You got a story for us?

00:47:35 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 4:

It does. I was going to say, teachers, we hear everything. Kids come and tell us everything. We just tune it out. Like, a lot of times, if you, like, you know a kid that comes from, like, a good household, then you only really are aligned with just, like, other things going on. The kids tell us all the business. And all you say is, I don't think your mom wants me to know that. I don't think your mom wants me to know that. Like, I tell them that all the time. And I remember when Squid Game came out, the kids were playing that game.

00:48:06 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. At school. Squid Games, yeah.

00:48:09 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 4:

You know, like Greenlight?

00:48:10 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:48:10 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 4:

Yes. And you could tell that they had watched Squid Game.

00:48:14 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man.

00:48:16 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 4:

You know what I mean? Yeah. Because they were playing that game. And I'm like, man.

00:48:20 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 1:

Nicole, when you say you know the good kids and then you know the bad kids, which side would Joe Jacob and Luke be on for Chelsea and I?

00:48:29 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 4:

Off the chain. Off the chain. So you don't, you know Tune it out

00:48:34 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 1:

I love you, take care Nicole Oh I love these, it's Mojo in the morning show What would you do? We're going to do that this morning right now With Spike, what happened?

00:48:44 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 5:

Really I thought the TV cameras The hidden cameras were watching us

00:48:49 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 1:

And seeing what would we do John Quinones is going to jump out anytime Isn't that the guy's name that hosts that show?

00:48:55 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 5:

So Meg and I went out to eat last night And the restaurant owner Was acting like she thought she knew meg and kept and she kept bringing over free stuff to the table and we don't know her but she was saying like she said something about us being family and after the first time with the app i was like how do you know her and she's like i don't know her and like do we say something well like we didn't say something and meg wanted to fess up and i wouldn't let her so wait so they

00:49:24 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 1:

brought over when you say appetizer yeah lady gave us free food she was bringing free food

00:49:28 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

So I thought it was because I was on the radio. Sometimes, you know, we have listeners and fans that will recognize us, but she had no idea who I was. She was clearly talking to Meg. And she's like, oh, you're family. Don't worry about it. And then as she kept coming back and small talking us, and there wasn't a lot of people in the restaurant, she clearly thought Megan was somebody in the bar biz. She's like, oh, we're about to close. You know how that works. I'm coming by your bar next week. And she sent us over free drinks, which we totally accepted. And I was like, I don't know

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 2:

what's going on, but I'm not don't say anything. Like, let the free stuff

00:50:05 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 4:

roll. Were you at an olive garden? Because when you hear your family.

00:50:11 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 2:

No. Yeah. I'll give you your rim shot. Thank you. Would you guys have said, like, how do I know you? Or would you just let it roll? Because then I felt like too much time had passed after the first time.

00:50:26 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 1:

I couldn't. I don't talk with my mouth full.

00:50:27 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 2:

Exactly Hold on a second My girlfriend's too honest She wanted to be like I'm sorry How do I know you? I think you have made a mistake I'm like Oh you You be quiet You just sit there And sip that free drink Here's another bite

00:50:45 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 1:

You just stay over there And look pretty We're eating these apps Right I'll tell you this That I probably Would say something Maybe at the end just to ask, like, going, oh, wait, wait, or, and you guys have never been to this place before.

00:51:01 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 2:

No, but you can't say something at the end after you just spent a half hour taking everything from her.

00:51:06 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know. It's funny because of, you know, that's a situation where you're just kind of like, oh, God, this is great. I'm going to do it. I've had people come up before and, like, think that they know you, and they'll do, oh, I know you. Oh, yeah. Like, and it's not the radio thing. Or somebody has come up one time to Chelsea and said something like, oh my God, I haven't seen you in so long. And Chelsea has no idea who she is. And Chelsea will say to me, ask her what her name is again. And I'm like, hey, how are you doing? Oh, I'm sorry. And I'll try to introduce myself to her. And we still don't know who it is.

00:51:42 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because they'll say something like, oh, it's so nice to see you again instead of, I'm Shannon.

00:51:47 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 1:

Right, exactly. That's the worst. I don't know. You know what? Here's the what would you do on this one Is I would wonder When can I go back to that restaurant

00:51:58 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 2:

No but that was the conversation On the way home we're like can we go back Because now if we keep going back Eventually she's going to figure out We're not

00:52:06 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 1:

Meg's not the person she thought she was Can you imagine if she Finally meets the person that looks like Meg And goes oh my god did you enjoy all those apps And she's like I haven't been here What are you talking about

00:52:18 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 2:

That couple's been back four times They keep taking all the free food.

00:52:22 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome.

00:52:23 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 4:

But in this economy, take advantage.

00:52:26 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 1:

Texters 95500 are saying, say nothing, do nothing. I like that. No, I wouldn't say a thing. Another one here that says, I would enjoy it. Maybe that's kind of their thing that they do at that restaurant. A couple of other people are like, what restaurant are you talking about?

00:52:42 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 2:

Everybody else is going to try it too?

00:52:44 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I don't know. It's one of those things where if you ever get something. I think that's different than if you go to a store and they forget to charge you for something. Because I have a karma or a thought in my head that bad things are going to happen. God's going to make me pay some way, somehow, if a person doesn't charge me for something.

00:53:07 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, but it's a monetary thing. If it was a jacket that cost $200, yeah, I'm going to go back. That's what I'm saying. If it's a bunch of bananas from Kroger, I'm sorry. Oh, really? That's a donation to me. I'm sorry. If it costs more than gas to drive back to the grocery store, I'm keeping the product.

00:53:25 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know. I have even the slightest of things I feel awkward about.

00:53:30 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm with you on that, but the free food. I'll take another glass of wine, please.

00:53:35 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Trevor? It's Mojo in the morning. What would you do?

00:53:39 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 4:

I'd definitely go back. Spike, you going back or what?

00:53:42 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 2:

I feel like eventually she's going to have a conversation with somebody else and realize it wasn't the person she thought it was. So I feel like the jig is up. Now, if we go back, she might recognize.

00:53:53 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 3:

Also, if I was Meg, I would want to see the person that I'm getting confused with. I'd be so curious.

00:53:59 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 2:

Right?

00:53:59 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 3:

How much do I look like this other person? Is it a compliment or an insult? Right, exactly.

00:54:05 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though? You're never insulted when you get free food.

00:54:08 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 3:

That is also very true.

00:54:10 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Trevor. Take care of yourself, buddy.

00:54:12 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 4:

No problem, Mojo. Love you guys.

00:54:13 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 1:

Love you, buddy. Take care. What's up, Sarah?

00:54:16 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 4:

hey um you guys are missing like one of the most important things but shannon kind of mentioned it about like who do i look like then i hate when people come up to me and they're like oh you just look super familiar yeah like i was telling kp i was like i'm not on a guess who board

00:54:32 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 2:

because you should know you don't like that you don't like when people feel familiarity when they

00:54:38 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 3:

see you no because oh i'm guilty of that one like i'm not like special i meet people and i say have i met you before you look so familiar to me i'm very guilty of that yep yeah but i do have i do

00:54:50 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

have one more thing to say so i work with seniors and like i love them dearly i remember every person's name there

00:55:00 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 7:

who I work with, except for my friends. It's the weirdest thing. So I could be friends with them for a while. I'm like, oh, what's your name?

00:55:09 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 6:

Sarah, what do you think when somebody comes up to you and says, oh, my God, you know who you look like? And then they show you who you look like, and the person's not really attractive.

00:55:19 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I was at Starbucks getting my order from work, and the lady's like, you look like one of the girls from the Spy Kids movie. And I'm like, uh, thank you. I don't know if that should be a compliment or an insult. No, that's a compliment.

00:55:36 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:55:36 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 7:

That's a compliment. Yeah. Okay.

00:55:39 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 6:

Listen to what Tim got. Tim got something expensive for free because they thought that they knew you. What was it, Tim?

00:55:46 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, so it's a little bit different.

00:55:48 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 6:

Your voices guys, by the way, too. Yeah. Why do you want to be voices guys real quick? Are you afraid that they're going to charge you?

00:55:53 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 2:

You'll find out.

00:55:55 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 6:

Uh-oh.

00:55:55 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 2:

I was kind of scared when this happened. so you know like at total wine how they have everything and they have some things like locked up yeah yeah so i asked for you know i'm like kind of splurging i'm like all right all right i'll get the don julio 1942 i didn't realize they had to hold it up there so i'm finishing shopping blah blah blah i get to the cashier and they're ringing everything up i got some beers and like some other stuff and this guy is taking like i kid you not like a good five ten minutes It's making this Don Kula look so beautiful. I'm like, holy crap. Like, how much is this thing going to cost me? And the guy doesn't even, like, I'm looking at the total price, and I'm like, no way. Is it only going to cost me total $150? The guy's putting it all away because, like, they can't hand you the stuff. They have to put it in the bag first. I get in my car. I look at my receipt. I'm like, all right, Corona's, White Claw. And I'm just reading. I'm like, wait a minute. Where's the Don Julio? And then I'm checking just to make sure that there's no security tag, and I literally get in my car, and I floor it out of there before anything else happens.

00:57:02 - 00:57:05 | Speaker 6:

You got a $150 bottle of Don Julio for free.

00:57:06 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 2:

$200. No, at Total Wine, they're $200.

00:57:09 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Let me just say this to you, buddy. God's going to get you back.

00:57:14 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 2:

Why do you think I'm being phone disguised?

00:57:17 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 6:

He knows you through that. What is this guy's doing?

00:57:22 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 4:

Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes. It's the first time we've ever voiced this guy for God.

00:58:34 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 6:

We got today's Tuesday, so a sense of a survey coming up here in just a little bit. Shannon with the Dirty on the 30 right now. What you got this hour?

00:58:41 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 1:

Damar Hamlin was discharged from the UC Medical Center in Ohio and transferred to a hospital in Buffalo, New York yesterday.

00:58:49 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 6:

Isn't that amazing?

00:58:50 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 1:

The doctors who provided all of the care for him following what happened last Monday said they are just, they're thrilled with the improvements he's made in such a short amount of time. I mean, true miracle in action.

00:59:03 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, did you see what, here we're going to play this.

00:59:05 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 5:

Dr. Prince and I are thrilled and proud on behalf of UC to report to you that Damar Hamlin has been released and returned to Buffalo. I traveled with him to the airport this morning with our UCHealth air care and mobile care crew, including teammates who were with us on the field when Damar Hamlin collapsed. He landed safely and is standard as anybody who has gone through what he's gone through this past week. And certainly after flying on a plane, he is going to be observed and monitored to ensure that there's no impact on the flight of his condition or on his lungs. Dr. Prince and I have spoken extensively with his care team in Buffalo, and I can confirm that he is doing well. And this is the beginning of the next stage of his recovery.

00:59:49 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

Did you see what he did before he left, too, which I think is amazing? His family did. They put together T-shirts that are called the Did We Win?

01:00:00 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 1:

T-shirts remember the same what he said when he woke up the doctor. Did we win? Yeah, and they're selling them raising money for the UC Medical Center And all the doctors and nurses there and what they're doing that is really really cool It's I this story is gonna be a

01:00:19 - 01:01:45 | Speaker 2:

Like a movie. Yeah, yeah, and by the way while his development this latest development is a step in the right direction direction. Everybody's saying it is still way too early to discuss what's going to happen in terms of his football career, his football future. There's a little rumor going around about Jimmy Fallon right now. So the Tonight Show is losing the ratings war to Fox News rival Greg Gutfeld. And that has left NBC execs with some buyer's remorse, allegedly. Now, nearly 19 months after NBC handed Fallon a $80 million five-year contract extension, The Tonight Show is only drawing in about just barely 1.3 million viewers, less than half the audience. I read more listeners in the morning than he has viewers in the night. Yeah, so there's a source who's telling me NBC is now really regretting giving Jimmy this deal because they now realize the days of tens of millions of people tuning in for The Tonight Show are over. And they kind of knew that, but they thought Jimmy would do better than 1.3 million average viewers. Now, in the meantime, Jimmy's attracting about 30 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, which shows little clips of the show's segments. But somebody pointed out to me, well, that really doesn't drive up ad rates for NBC for the regular show. And the network doesn't want The Tonight Show to exist just to feed YouTube. I see what you mean, Megan. Like, it could come back. You know, people could see stuff on YouTube and be like, oh, I need to watch the show again.

01:01:46 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 3:

Dude, this is what drives me nuts about, like, these companies. is that they're kind of not adapting to a younger audience. So like the Tonight Show or all of those late night shows were targeted towards like 20 and 30 year olds. And 20 and 30 year olds in today's market don't watch television. They stream everything online. So either move your product over to where your customer is or age with your audience. And I think Jimmy Fallon is trying to appeal to a much broader audience, which then makes it not appealing to a younger audience. That makes a lot of sense.

01:02:17 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 1:

What that means, though, is that means that they need to go back and renegotiate the guy's deal.

01:02:22 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:02:22 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 1:

And honestly, this is for us, too. I mean, there are companies that are going to say, hey, we're not going to pay you guys salaries. We're going to pay you based just on your streams and what you got. And you know what? Unfortunately, when you're doing a contract negotiation, a guy like Jimmy Fallon wants a big – he wants his number right away. He wants to know how much he's making.

01:02:40 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 3:

Because there's – then you put the power back into the content creator's hands. So the power will go back into his hands because without upper management and this production company, he gets to make his own choices. So it also could be more appealing to his audience, broadening his audience, giving him more online streams, which is still revenue. This could be a good thing for him.

01:03:00 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, this could change a lot of things for a lot of people.

01:03:02 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 3:

And look at other late night hosts. Like John Oliver does great and most of his stuff is online streaming.

01:03:08 - 01:03:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's just weird that you're getting beaten in the ratings by a show that's on a news network.

01:03:12 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but nobody watches television.

01:03:14 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:03:14 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 2:

I thought this was so sweet, and it's going viral right now, so I wanted to play it for you. Kate Winslet is getting praised for the way that she handled a pre-teen reporter named Martha during an interview for Avatar The Way of Water. Check this out.

01:03:30 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 3:

It's my first time. This is your first time doing it?

01:03:33 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay, well, guess what? When we do this interview, it's going to be the most amazing interview ever. Okay. And do you know why? Why? Because we've decided that it is going to be. So we've decided right now, me and you, this is going to be a really fantastic interview. Okay. And you can ask me anything that you want, and you don't have to be scared. Everything's going to be amazing. Okay. Okay, you've got this. Yeah. Okay, let's do it.

01:04:01 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 1:

I've never had a celebrity say that to me. Ever. It just seems so sweet, I really like that.

01:04:08 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, it's the campy PG-13 horror movie starring a mean girl robot that everybody's talking about right now, the movie Megan.

01:04:19 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 3:

This is Megan. Hi, Megan. I'm Katie.

01:04:26 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 1:

It's nice to meet you, Katie. Do you want to hang out?

01:04:29 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 2:

It earned more than $30 million in ticket sales in the U.S. and Canada over the weekend, 30% more than box office analysts had predicted. Universal Pictures, which released the horror comedy, it only took about $12 million to make, has already fast-tracked a sequel because it's been so wildly successful. The reviews are great. It's become a sensation on TikTok.

01:04:51 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 1:

I watched clips of it, and it looks like, I don't know.

01:04:55 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 2:

Once she got on all fours and started running through the forest, I was like, nope. Yeah.

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 4:

I'm out. Stop! Don't!

01:05:02 - 01:05:02 | Unknown:

Megan!

01:05:04 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 4:

You should probably run. Yeah.

01:05:06 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 2:

It's getting great reviews, and they're saying it's not even like a true horror movie. It's really campy, and it just plays well. There's a great sense of humor in the whole thing.

01:05:14 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Megan, did you have your lawyers call?

01:05:18 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Spelled differently. Oh, really?

01:05:20 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 2:

The movie's spelled like normal human spell is, not spelled like it. Do you feel better about yourself?

01:05:26 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 1:

You're dragging me down for everything. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page and those in the morning. Let's go!

Good to have you guys here with us today. are you really friends if you don't do this Megan I got fake friends I'm so I need new friends

01:07:05 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 5:

actually taking friend applications sign into my Instagram DMs please because I hate everybody in my life and I mean that so wholeheartedly because all of them are consistently breaking my heart Now I We talk about all the time Love languages right Mine is not touch Physical touch is not mine Neither is gift giving Okay Words of affirmations That's me What tell me you love me Quality time Yes quality time Quality time And words of affirmations Are the only thing I care about in life But I'm adding a new Love language to the chart And that is The language of sending TikToks to your loved ones Yes Because Thank you KP It is an art form, and it means I love you in so many different ways, and here's why I'm pissed at all of my friends, is because I found the most iconic TikTok that has maybe ever been made, and I sent it to three of my friends. I sent it to Ellen, I sent it to Jillian, and I sent it to Katie.

01:08:04 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 1:

We're not on our friends list. Katie just goes, hmm. Nobody in this room. Never mind.

01:08:10 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 5:

That was like user error. Well, you know what? I would have sent it to the group chat, but the last three TikToks that I have sent to the group chat, got absolutely zero responses from the morning show, and I have not participated in the interview.

01:08:21 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 4:

I get to be honest with you. You rarely ever answer back or send anything that I thought somebody stole your phone.

01:08:27 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 5:

I swear to God, if this was not sensitive information, I would 100% screen record the morning show group chat just to prove to people how little you respond to me when I send stuff to you guys.

01:08:39 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 4:

Like I said, I always think somebody grabbed your phone and stole your phone. So what was it? I want to know what this takes. I want to know what the TikTok is, the important TikTok is.

01:08:48 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 5:

The TikTok was an aquarium full of shrimp having a rave. Okay. He was amazing. There was a light show. The shrimp were dancing. The music was bumping. I was sitting on the toilet having a party, right? Like, that's the best time to come across a shrimp rave, all right, is when you're just having your me time. It was a beautiful experience. I was having the time of my life partying alone in my bathroom, and I thought, you know what? You know who would love this? The people I love the most. I want them to have this joy and this happiness that I am experiencing right now. How would you have reacted?

01:09:29 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead. I'm sorry.

01:09:30 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 5:

I would have reacted?

01:09:31 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you would have loved it.

01:09:32 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 5:

I was like, oh, Megan wants to be my friend.

01:09:34 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Nope. So you sent it?

01:09:37 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

I sent it, and every single one of them responded with, are you okay? And then they followed it up And when I said Wait you didn't find that entertaining Every single one of them said How zooted are you right now And I was sober Don't appreciate me See I have to say

01:10:00 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 7:

Those are really good friends because they actually watched the TikTok that you sent.

01:10:04 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's true. Not like us.

01:10:07 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, like sometimes I'm a terrible friend. My friend Carrie loves sending TikToks to our group chat. And I would say 50% of the time I don't even click on them.

01:10:16 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 3:

You know we get a notification when you open up the TikTok and watch it. What do you say? We get a notification on the TikTok app.

01:10:22 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 7:

Well, there's like nine girls on this group chat. So I don't know how that works.

01:10:26 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 6:

Is that only if you send it on TikTok or if you text it to somebody?

01:10:30 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 7:

Like it goes through text.

01:10:32 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really? Really? What's going on, Emily?

01:10:33 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 5:

I got to start watching these.

01:10:35 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 6:

Emily, what's happening?

01:10:37 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Megan, first of all, I thought that sounds hilarious, that TikTok. Thank you. Thank you. And I am the same way. I send my sister and cousins the best TikToks ever, and I get nothing from them. I'm like, really?

01:10:51 - 01:10:52 | Unknown:

Really?

01:10:52 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 4:

It's disrespectful. I go out of my way and I thought of you And I was like you know who's going to enjoy this So and so let me send it to you And then nothing

01:11:00 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 6:

You know what I hate I hate that when you send something really good To somebody like you send it And you think it's really good And they like respond with Oh I saw that already

01:11:12 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 1:

It drives me crazy

01:11:15 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 5:

I can't share my joy with you I don't say that I just don't say anything Like the one you sent us last night Mojo You're like the aunt in the group that sends us The stuff that was on like two weeks later, it's on Facebook and Instagram.

01:11:26 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 3:

The person that refuses to download TikTok and they're like, oh, I saw this on Instagram Reels. They're like, welcome to the 21st century.

01:11:32 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 6:

Well, if you see it on Instagram Reels, right, it's obviously too old. But the one I sent you guys, I just thought it was classically funny. I thought it was good. The Southwest Airlines guy? Yeah.

01:11:41 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 3:

It was funny. Yeah.

01:11:42 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 6:

You saw that. Have you seen that before? Yeah, it was a week ago. I have not seen it before. I did not see that one. So see, thank you, Shannon. You're welcome. See, even if Shannon probably did see it, she's actually making me feel good. But I watched it.

01:11:50 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 7:

I didn't respond, but I did watch it.

01:11:51 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 5:

I feel like if you created it, it deserves a response. Like, whoa, this is fire, KP. If you're just forwarding someone else's TikTok, I'm like, cool, thank you. You know, I like it. I didn't feel like I needed that.

01:12:03 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 6:

Wait, only if you created it? If that's the case, I wouldn't have anybody responding to me.

01:12:06 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like I don't feel like you have to, like, respond to people when they send you one and be like, this was an excellent choice. Well curated. Thank you for sending it to me.

01:12:14 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of responses, Megan and I were talking yesterday about, like, who responds in the group chat and who reacts to certain things. Everybody gets that one pity like from you, Mojo If you send something like a message That joke was funny No, it wasn't But Mojo's going to like it It's reaffirming

01:12:32 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, she just sent it I am Ted Lasso I just want you to know that

01:12:38 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 7:

I sent you the shrimp rave

01:12:39 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 6:

Hold on, let me watch it live on the air

01:12:42 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 5:

I just looked through our morning show group chat To see what has Megan sent us lately And the last one did get completely no response The one before that, I replied with, somebody's hi.

01:12:57 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 1:

Push me and then just touch me.

01:12:59 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's cool.

01:13:01 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 2:

I like this. Push me and then just touch me. Do I get my satisfaction?

01:13:10 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 7:

Were you zooted, though? That is actually watching this a very legitimate question. She was on the toilet, I thought you said. You were on the toilet. So you can be zooted and sitting on the toilet. I was absolutely sober.

01:13:19 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 6:

She was pushing one out? Is that what you're doing?

01:13:21 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're like 50 shrimp just dancing. This is the apex of entertainment in America. Shrimp in an aquarium dancing.

01:13:32 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Jordan.

01:13:33 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:13:34 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 1:

Hey. So, I love TikTok, and I don't mind TikTok, but my wife sends me so many videos. She's like, why don't you watch them all? It's like, I'm not in school. this feels like homework now I do call it that

01:13:53 - 01:13:55 | Speaker 7:

I call it friend homework it's like

01:13:55 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 1:

I just woke up I have 10 videos when do you send me this

01:14:01 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 5:

but what if she's like Megan and this is her love language this is how she's saying I'm thinking about you

01:14:06 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 3:

I have TikTok friends where I only send videos to those people on TikTok we don't even hang out in real life but we send each other TikToks back and forth and I just know that they will always be there for me

01:14:17 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

Just love me a little less.

01:14:23 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 6:

All right. Senseless survey time. We're going to see how many questions Spike can get out. Count the question.

01:14:30 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 2:

It's time for an official government survey. It's Mojo in the Morning Senseless Survey.

01:14:36 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 5:

Hello? Hello, ma'am. How are you?

01:14:39 - 01:14:40 | Unknown:

Who's that?

01:14:40 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 5:

I'm calling from an independent survey. It'll just take about 30 seconds. I hate telemarketers. You know, I'm just a person trying to make a living in a really tough economy.

01:14:48 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 1:

All right, go ahead. You ask me a question? Here's a deal. You ask me a question, I'll ask you a question.

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 5:

You're very angry for this early in the morning.

01:14:54 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm cutting up fruit right now. I'm very busy.

01:14:57 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'll let you get to that. I'll just have a couple quick questions.

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, let's get this over with. I will do this for you just to make you happy because one time I was a telemarketer and I sold carpet cleaning.

01:15:07 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever met a choosy mother that didn't choose Jif? No, I don't want Jif. In a standard deck of cards, which would be considered the race card?

01:15:16 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there would be probably an ace.

01:15:18 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 3:

An ace, okay. Is there wind beneath your wings or only in your shorts? I can't believe I'm wasting my time talking to you. We only have three questions left. After eating, do amphibians have to wait one hour before getting out of the water?

01:15:32 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 4:

No, because people don't even have to wait to get in. That's a fallacy. You're better off swimming after you eat because that way you don't get hungry. Okay, what's your next question? Because I really have to hurry up. I'm sorry.

01:15:41 - 01:15:44 | Speaker 3:

I can tell you really have to go. What's the name of your garage band?

01:15:45 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 4:

Actually, right now I can't even stand in my garage. There's so much stuff in my garage right now.

01:15:50 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy.

01:15:50 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 4:

My sister bought these containers things. Bought these flower pots or some goofy thing. and that I could drive them home, and now they're in my garage.

01:16:00 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 3:

And just the final two questions. When's the last time you had a haircut that made you cry?

01:16:05 - 01:16:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's when I was in high school.

01:16:08 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 3:

When you look at a map, shouldn't the Midwest actually be a little more to the left?

01:16:13 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, actually, probably. I never thought of it, though. So when I teach my class, should I tell them that it really should be a little more to the left?

01:16:20 - 01:16:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, are you a teacher, ma'am? Yeah. Then this would be a perfect question for you. Would you support selling alcohol in high schools for students who are over 21?

01:16:28 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't support alcohol at all anyway.

01:16:30 - 01:16:32 | Speaker 3:

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you think you'll like the next question?

01:16:34 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 4:

Probably a negative 10, minus 10. Ask me how much I like you.

01:16:39 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 3:

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you like me? Keeping in mind, we really have only known each other for about a minute and a half.

01:16:46 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, first of all, you're really annoying.

01:16:48 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 3:

But all you're doing is cutting fruit.

01:16:50 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 4:

I'm finished cutting fruit. I'm sitting on the couch right now.

01:16:52 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 3:

You didn't have 30 seconds to give me for the survey.

01:16:55 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, you're probably saying she's some stupid idiot who's wasting her time talking to me, but I'm just relaxing right now. My friend has a cat that talks.

01:17:05 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 3:

Your friend has a cat that talks?

01:17:07 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:17:07 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 3:

What does that have to do with the price of apples in China?

01:17:10 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 4:

What did any of your questions have to do with anything?

01:17:13 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, now you're being judgmental. I don't like it.

01:17:16 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Am I done?

01:17:17 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 3:

All right. You take care of yourself. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

01:17:20 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It would be great if you could hang up the phone before I do because...

01:17:24 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 2:

No, you hang up. You hang up first. No, you hang up.

01:17:28 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 4:

All right. Goodbye.

01:17:29 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 2:

No, you hang up.

01:17:34 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 1:

I'm always amazed, Spike, because I'm sitting here with my mic off and stuff going, when are they going to hang up? When are they going to hang up?

01:17:39 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 2:

When are they going to hang up?

01:17:40 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. Senseless survey.

01:17:44 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to start off with you, Shannon, on this one. Phone number, real quick, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. So if you want to get through to us, you got a comment that you want to make. And if you're listening to us on the iHeartRadio stream, you can simply just text us, but we may call you back and ask you to go on the radio with us. So just so you know, you may get a phone call. So pick it up. It will be our producer calling to talk to you. So was it an insult to Shannon yet? Or was it just him just making a reference of something?

01:19:54 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 2:

Or was it a compliment? Or was it a compliment? I mean, some people might take it as a compliment.

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 3:

Where were you? What was the setting?

01:20:02 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

I know you love a good pedicure. And I went and got a pedicure. Oh, yes. I needed it real bad. Yeah. My feet were looking a little rough. And the guy who was doing it, I always go to the same place. The guy who was doing it was so sweet. Do you like having a guy do it? It doesn't matter to me, actually. There's one girl at the place that I go that I really, really always hope I get her. But it doesn't really matter to me.

01:20:25 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 3:

Because the place that I go to, I have a guy do it, too. Yeah. And he has got, like, the roughest, like, movements and stuff. I'm like, hey, hey, hey, hey, you're moving me around, man. You're going to hurt me, man. I don't move that fast.

01:20:42 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, the guys, I noticed the guys at the place that I go to give better massages than the ladies do. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay? And that's what this guy was doing when this happened. And so he was massaging my feet, and then he starts massaging my ankles, and he's massaging my calves. and this is always something that makes me a little uncomfortable but he kept looking up at me to like see my facial expression if I was enjoying it or not which I was felt great well so he's looking up at me with this big smile on his face and he kept saying something and I felt so bad because I asked him to repeat it I still didn't understand what he was saying and he's smiling so I knew like he wanted a response can I ask real quick before you tell us what it was he said

01:21:24 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 3:

But is this one of those places where they're, like, I don't know. Vietnamese. Vietnamese? Vietnamese, yep. Okay.

01:21:31 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 2:

Yep, and so I asked him to write and said, I'm so sorry I didn't hear what you said. Can you repeat yourself? And he repeated it again, and I still couldn't understand him. And I'm like, oh, God. So I asked him to repeat himself a third time, and I finally got it. He was asking me if I was a runner because I had such big calves. And I was like, oh, no. I don't run Myself and my aunt and my grandma All have the same big calves

01:22:01 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 3:

You're strong like ox I would have said yes I am a runner

01:22:05 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

I do have big calves But are they really that big?

01:22:14 - 01:22:20 | Speaker 3:

So you took it as a kind of You didn't take it offensive I like that I don't know how to take it Whatever

01:22:20 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 2:

I do have big calves

01:22:23 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 3:

All of us on the show, every one of us, Megan and Spike and Reese and KP, take it from Shannon. When somebody tells you something, they're not always trying to insult you. They're quite possibly giving you a great compliment.

01:22:37 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 1:

Sure. You're like, excuse me first. That's all directed at me.

01:22:41 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 3:

No, I said everybody. Everybody on the show.

01:22:43 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 1:

Here's how you said it. You said, Megan and Spike and Reese.

01:22:48 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 3:

I was trying to remember everybody else's names. but uh that's that's funny so the so the one that i just got recently and the guy that uh that did uh did it to me he won't make talk he won't uh talk with me like the the women like the women will talk to me like i'll ask him about how their you know family's doing how their kids are doing and stuff i'm asking him questions and he just like be quiet fat man you know that's what i'm

01:23:14 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 2:

thinking the whole time like he doesn't want me to have a conversation when i when i'm getting First of all, I hate getting my nails done. I think I'm one of the weirdest people in the world. I do not like getting manicures. Pedicures are fine. But I want to sit there and just scroll through my phone.

01:23:27 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So I'm cool with no talking. They know me well because I've dropped my phone into the bowl a couple of times.

01:23:36 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 4:

Into the foot water? Yeah.

01:23:38 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 3:

And I've had that before. So they'll always be really careful. I've left my phone sometimes on that little, you know, they have like the arm. arm there's an armrest but then right next to the armrest there's like a little thing that i always call it it's like you ever go on an airplane and that you can pull out your tray tail table it's a tray table it is and i'll put the phone on there and they'll be like no no and they'll tell me like where to put it like because then they know that it's gonna go right into that

01:24:00 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 4:

but they probably like you because you're a talker you'll interview people while they're working i

01:24:04 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

don't this guy didn't the women do actually it's funny you know what we talk about is this gonna to make you go what the hell they always have abc on on the television and so we always talk about general hospital because it's always right around the time that the soap operas are on and i i remind them that my mom and sisters and all those used to watch general hospital and all my children and all those abc soap operas back that used you know back then and they're still i think general hospital is the only one that's still like left on the thing and it's still the same flatline as it was 20 years ago so we always talk about general hospital at the time what's

01:24:38 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 1:

going on Sydney hi good morning guys um so I just wanted to say it is a compliment I am a runner I run every single morning I run like four miles almost every single day um so and I aim for the

01:24:52 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 3:

big calves like oh okay all right so yeah so telling telling Shannon that uh you must be a runner. You got big calves. not basically yeah like good for you good for cheating because she doesn't even have to try

01:25:03 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 2:

do you like to uh talk when you're getting a pedicure or do you like to sit in silence

01:25:09 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 3:

well my sister does my pedicure so it's funny because we're constantly arguing and she's like your fear disgusting so i mean i guess yes and no my my wife goes to somebody i

01:25:22 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 2:

won't say who it is but my wife goes to somebody she always gets good gossip so she always yeah I'll say, how was your pedicure and stuff? And she'll go, oh, it was great. Did you know that something? And I'm going, wow, you get some good gossip out of the whole deal.

01:25:38 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys. No matter if it's going to work, okay? Go, go, go, go.

01:25:41 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too.

01:25:41 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too.

01:25:44 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning show. So I have this weird thing. When I go to a gas station, I have, like, a superstition that it's kind of weird. I have to go to certain pump numbers and I don't know if you guys have superstitions that are weird if you do you can share your superstitions with us but I have to go to either pumps 3, 7 or if they have it up to 13, 13 so 3, 7, 13 are the ones that I usually like to go to or number 1 yes I went to 2 and I had a horrible day I know it sounds weird to say this for the rest of life Number two is stricken from the gas. I should just say two is the one I won't go to. But no, I have gone to other numbers. So 1, 3, 7, 13 are like the ones that I definitely like to go to, especially going to number one at the Shell station that's by my house. Until yesterday, when I was pulling into the gas station and I pulled in in a way, my gas pump on my Tahoe is on my driver's side, okay? Which, that should be the side that it's always on. Foreign car makers, you know. Agreed. These expensive car people that are out there, you guys put them all on the other side because you guys are ridiculous. And it always ends up screwing you up.

01:27:07 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't even make sense to me because then you've got to walk all the way around. Yeah, don't.

01:27:10 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 2:

In some countries, they drive on the other side of the road. No, I know. Well, yes.

01:27:15 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 1:

Don't be logical. Shut up.

01:27:17 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 2:

So, so I pulled, I pulled into the gas station and I pulled into a way that I had to like do a complete U-turn and go all the way around and pull a U-E to get into the spot to do it on pump one. And I pulled in there. And when I pulled in there, a pickup truck was right behind me and didn't think much of it other than, okay, there's a pickup truck. It looked like a nice, you know, Dodge Ram truck. I get into the spot. I put the pump in, and then I look up, and the pickup truck is on the other side. He's on number two, which I wanted to tell him that's the bad luck. That's bad luck. Yep. I'm pumping away, and the guy goes, you know, it really wasn't safe what you ended up doing. And I'm like, excuse me? And he goes, you shouldn't have done that. You should pull into the appropriate pump. There's a flow of traffic that has to happen here. A flow of traffic that has to happen here was, like, four people at the pumps. It wasn't even a busy time of day. But there are no arrows at gas stations. Yeah, there's no flow. You can go to wherever the hell you want to go to, right? And especially if you're going to a gas station that has multiple pumps on multiple sides, I usually will do the flow of, I'll pull up to the further pump. Like if you go to Costco, they make you do that, right?

01:28:32 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 1:

And all gas stations, well, most gas stations have two entrances to get into the area where you can pump gas. So the flow of traffic is all screwed up.

01:28:40 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm non-confrontational, so this man has a big pickup truck. He's a big man, and he probably knows how to fight. And I'm like, oh, I'm sorry about that. I'm apologizing for something I'm really not even sorry for. And I was sitting there going, oh. And then I go, well, I'm sorry. I have a weird superstition about what pump numbers I use. And he goes, well, just be careful. And they kind of went back to his pumping. And do you ever have that when there's another person on the other side of the pump? Either one of two things happens. If it's a really pretty person, you want them to be pumping for as long as you're pumping because you want to, like, see them and, you know, maybe acknowledge. And if it's this case, you want this guy to have only put $5 in his gas tank. You're like, at that point, I'm thinking to myself, am I going to fill this whole thing up? What's going on, Tia?

01:29:31 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:29:32 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 2:

How you doing, Tia? Do you have a superstition, a gas pump superstition?

01:29:37 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 3:

I do. So I always try to go to 3, 7, or 13 as well.

01:29:43 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 2:

Really? Okay. So you go to 2, 3, 7, or 13?

01:29:47 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 3:

No, just 3, 7, or 13. Same as you. 3, 7, 8. That is so weird.

01:29:53 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. You and I are similar. So do you ever try one? Because I do try one.

01:29:58 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Occasionally one. If one's open, I'll try one.

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 2:

isn't that funny

01:30:01 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 3:

here we are Tia I'm doing this right

01:30:04 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 2:

I don't even see the numbers until you already pull in and park next to them

01:30:07 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 3:

oh no I look for the numbers I search them out you have to look for the numbers thanks Tia you and I are I was going to say love childs no we're going to say soulmates we're gasmates what's up I'm sorry Michelle's like huh Michelle

01:30:26 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 6:

what's going on This is Michelle from Lisa's Cafe. Hi, guys. Happy New Year. Hey.

01:30:32 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Michelle?

01:30:34 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 6:

How are you guys? So I'm obsessed with odd numbers. I can only go to a gas pump if it's an odd number. I can't go to an even number. I don't know why. Even in my car when I put, like, the heat on or the air, it has to be, like, at 71 or 73. It can't be at 72 or 74.

01:30:49 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 3:

Our boss is like that. Our boss, Tony, is like that with the car stereo. He's got to have the stereo on, I think, an even number, not an odd number.

01:30:58 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 6:

Oh, see, mine has to be on an odd number, always, like 13 or 15, always, or 17.

01:31:03 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's wild. What do you do if the pumps aren't there that you need to use? Like, if the even pumps are there, what do you do?

01:31:12 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I guess that's never really happened. I guess I would wait.

01:31:15 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 3:

Would you really?

01:31:16 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 6:

I can go somewhere else. I would. I don't like even numbers. I don't know why.

01:31:20 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm finally starting to figure out why there's always these people, these jackholes blocking traffic and starting stuff, because all you guys are waiting for a special number. Just get your gas and leave.

01:31:30 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 3:

Michelle, you're a jackhole.

01:31:31 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry to bite.

01:31:34 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Julie. What's going on?

01:31:37 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hi. Hi. I was calling because they put the gas tank on the passenger side, so that way if you have to pull over on the freeway, it's safer.

01:31:48 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so if you run out of gas.

01:31:52 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that way you're not, like, right. But that hasn't passed on to all the other.

01:31:57 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 3:

are you manufacturers are you in the auto industry and that's how you know this

01:32:01 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 5:

my family is and we talk about it all the time yeah that drives me crazy then you know what

01:32:06 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 3:

people need to keep enough gas in their tank you're not wrong yeah uh what's up amanda

01:32:12 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 4:

i don't know if mine's a superstition i think it's more of an ocd thing but i can't when i pump gas if i put like 50 bucks in my tank and it lands on 50 and two cents i have to keep going up until it's at like $50.10 or something like that because it makes me uncomfortable and I feel like my skin is like crawling.

01:32:37 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 3:

I do that, yeah.

01:32:38 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 4:

I can't land on random change.

01:32:40 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 3:

It's hard, by the way, sometimes to do that at certain pumps. There are certain gas stations, BP has this, where you can't do it and it doesn't end up doing it right.

01:32:48 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 7:

It goes too fast.

01:32:49 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

Jake, what's up?

01:32:50 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 7:

I was just telling KP that you're creating a new OCD for me. I'm turning you off.

01:32:54 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 2:

Now you're going to be thinking about it I never thought about that

01:32:58 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 7:

All the time, every time I pull in, I'm going to think about it

01:33:01 - 01:33:05 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call, man, I appreciate you What's up, Michael? How you doing?

01:33:06 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 8:

Well, two things One, I always park at a pump where I can face outwards Because if anything goes down, I want to get back out of there And two, I never pump at a gas pump that also has a diesel pump with it I don't know why, I just don't Oh, that's funny.

01:33:24 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 2:

It's got a lot of rules. An objection to Diesel.

01:33:26 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 7:

And those ones are usually on the end. Yeah. Like on your way out, right? I don't trust myself not to put Diesel in my car accidentally.

01:33:35 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for the call, man. Roger. Bye. Did you say Roger? Did you say Roger? Roger. Over and out. Mojo on the Morning Show. All right. This is one of those topics that we're going to bring up here right now that we need you to participate. we want you to call and you can also text too we can maybe read some of your text but um spike what do you think is the most overrated thing we were watching house hunters last night all night

01:34:06 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 2:

and i made the declarative statement in my living room to meg that swimming pools may be the most overrated thing ever and then i when i mentioned it in here i got some gasps but everybody wants one and then they use maybe use the swimming pool one summer and then it just becomes a big expensive backyard hazard for kids and a big expensive thing to clean and especially with our what four and a

01:34:31 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 3:

half days of summer that we have is probably a bad thing yeah i think pools in general like everyone

01:34:37 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

gets excited when a hotel has a pool too i'm like okay good you can swim in a bunch of strangers farts and pee congratulations i'm like am i in the minority i just don't so then i started this whole running list of things that are overrated swimming pool being one of the top but i think country music sucks oh how dare you i think starbucks is way overrated oh my gosh really

01:35:00 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 4:

You're going there.

01:35:01 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 3:

I'll drink Starbucks, but it's out of convenience. It's on every street corner. It's not my first choice, and I think people spend too much money on it. Listen, bacon is good, but can we all agree to stop talking about, like, it's the most amazing food on earth? It's bacon.

01:35:15 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 4:

You know what? The downside to bacon is the smell that it causes your house to smell like after you cook it.

01:35:21 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 3:

So I have a whole long list of things. I mean, I can go on forever. Well, big asses on women. I think that he'll trend of Brazilian butt lifts and the royal family, obviously. Oh, Megan. Golf.

01:35:34 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to slash your tires.

01:35:36 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 3:

I'll help you.

01:35:37 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 4:

I'll get one side, you get the other.

01:35:39 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 6:

I'm not scheduling your topic for a week. You said country music?

01:35:42 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:35:43 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 6:

Well, he was right there, but when he said royal family, he crossed the line.

01:35:48 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 3:

You want to add to my most overrated? Yes. What's overrated? Beer. Beer is overrated. Mr. Beer Man.

01:35:56 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 6:

Actually, craft beer kind of overrated.

01:35:59 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 3:

That's why it's been around for millions of years. Yeah, that's right. All these things have been around for millions of years.

01:36:04 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 4:

Beer is overrated and all the talk about beer and all the, you know.

01:36:08 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 3:

I'm not one of those people. You can't lump me in with those craft aficionados. Everybody keeps bringing me these fancy pants IPAs to my house. I don't drink them.

01:36:18 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 4:

Pictures are overrated. No. Taking photographs are overrated. Very overrated.

01:36:23 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 5:

Wasn't one of your New Year's goals to take more photos?

01:36:27 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, just my wife. He's just trying to personally attack me.

01:36:29 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 6:

All right, I'm going to get in trouble for this one. What's genuinely overrated, and it is a dig at Spike, is Star Wars.

01:36:36 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 5:

Yes!

01:36:37 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 6:

Overrated.

01:36:39 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 5:

I've still never seen it, so I can't even comment on it.

01:36:41 - 01:36:48 | Speaker 3:

See, that's just nostalgia. I don't think anybody really believes they were the greatest movies ever made. It's just we grew up with, like, that was our life.

01:36:48 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 6:

And I was going to say, I like Star Wars, so before you attack me, I like the movies. But it is very overrated. Your fandom is crazy.

01:36:55 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

By the way, everything that you or I bring up of things that are overrated that are spicy, like, got an excuse for it.

01:37:01 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm agreeing with you. No, it's not. No, it's really not that bad. Star Wars, I don't live the life of Star Wars. I love the movies.

01:37:08 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 6:

You have a Star Wars tattoo. What do you mean you don't live the life of Star Wars?

01:37:12 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Don't make fun of my religion.

01:37:13 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 6:

You're rugged in your living room of Star Wars.

01:37:16 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's right. You are racist. That stops the conversation.

01:37:19 - 01:37:34 | Speaker 3:

But I don't come in and talk to you guys about it and get all excited. I mean, your royal family thing is, like, obsessive. Me? Yeah. It's not obsessive. It's pop culture. The book came out today. Did you already order it?

01:37:34 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 5:

No.

01:37:35 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 3:

You didn't?

01:37:36 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 5:

Everybody who works for Amazon was texting us yesterday saying it was in so many deliveries for today. Was it? Oh, it's going to be huge.

01:37:43 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 4:

Tracy, what did you want to say?

01:37:44 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 1:

I was just agreeing with Spike on pretty much everything that he said for what's overrated from swimming pools to Starbucks. I was adding Chick-fil-A in that mix. Oh, no.

01:37:55 - 01:38:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, how dare you. No, no, no. Yes. How dare you. That's strong. Yes.

01:38:01 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 4:

Raising cheese is better. Yeah, come on.

01:38:03 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 3:

It's a chicken sandwich. It's not worth three lanes of Woodward Avenue traffic coming to a standstill.

01:38:09 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 1:

What are you saying, honey? Take your time and say it a little louder, please.

01:38:13 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Diane also agrees. You think Chick-fil-A is overrated?

01:38:19 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I do. Why?

01:38:21 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 4:

Where do you go get your chicken sandwiches? Don't tell me McDonald's.

01:38:25 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 2:

No, not McDonald's. It does. I mean, I go to Chick-fil-A. I just think they're overrated.

01:38:31 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know.

01:38:32 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 2:

And I don't get the pickle thing.

01:38:34 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't do the pickles at Chick-fil-A either.

01:38:36 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 2:

The pickle's the best thing.

01:38:38 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 4:

The Chick-fil-A sauce, though, is great. I'd swim in it.

01:38:41 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I have nieces and friends. that think it's the best thing in the world, so.

01:38:46 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 4:

I think that Chick-fil-A, I will say this about Chick-fil-A, is the food the greatest? Maybe not. Is the service the greatest? They, for some reason, have people that work there. They must pay them a million dollars because everybody gives you service with a smile. I've never had bad service at that place.

01:38:59 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 5:

They do have great service.

01:39:00 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 4:

It's true.

01:39:01 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to say this, and people are going to be pissed at me. Yeah. And no, I'm not going to say Eminem, but that's very obvious. I think Beyonce is over with it. Shannon Murphy. Beyonce, to me, is like Chick-fil-A. She's good. She's talented, but overrated.

01:39:17 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Katrina wants to join you. Katrina?

01:39:21 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, so I don't want the beehive attacking me, so I'm not going to plug any of my socials. But Beyonce is overrated.

01:39:29 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 4:

She's good. She's talented. You can just say it's not my thing.

01:39:32 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, overrated.

01:39:33 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

People go crazy over her, and it's kind of scary. Beyonce. She's amazing. Okay, another one. I love him as a person, but as an actor, Keanu Reeves. I watched John Wick over the weekend. He's mediocre. Loved the movie. He's not a great actor, guys. He's not a great actor. The only role he was good in was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I want you to know, when we started this conversation, I was like,

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 6:

This is lighthearted. This is fun. I'm going to poke and spike. I'm going to whatever. Beyonce even was like. He said country music. Okay. He was also correct. Yeah, it sucks. When you disrespect Keanu Reeves, I will not stand for this on this program. Like him as a person? Actor? Meh. Here it is.

01:40:18 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 5:

Strange things are a foot in circles. Hey, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I said. Oh, you mean my baby. Did you not listen to me? I said. Speed.

01:40:24 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 2:

The only good role. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I love starting fights. Speed? Sorry. Speed, the 90s classic? You saved an entire bus of people, Shannon. Dude, I just yelled so hard my tampon came out.

01:40:38 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 10:

I honestly got to have to go to the bathroom. That was the hill you died on. I seriously do. Keona Reeves. That's it. By the way, The Matrix did that.

01:40:49 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 3:

Here are some ones that people might agree with. Katie?

01:40:56 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, this might be an unpopular opinion, But I think weddings are so overrated Oh yeah

01:41:01 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 10:

I agree with you on that

01:41:03 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 8:

It's just so much planning So much stress All through your friends to drink for free And get drunk and barely remember the night

01:41:10 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 10:

We can just stop that tradition Just dial it down a little Make a party

01:41:15 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 3:

Lindsay, we're talking about most overrated things

01:41:19 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 9:

Stanley Cup If I have to see one more TikTok With a Stanley Cup I'm going to lose my mind

01:41:27 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 10:

It's very random and specific.

01:41:30 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 4:

They're so popular right now. They're all over TikTok. It's driving me nuts. What do you mean? It's the new Yeti. I love my Yeti.

01:41:37 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 10:

Oh, I thought you meant the Stanley Cup. You're talking to Detroit here. I thought you meant the actual Stanley Cup. No. Stanley Cup.

01:41:44 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 4:

It's like an insulated cup, but it has a handle on it and a tapered base, so it fits in your cup holder.

01:41:51 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 10:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:41:53 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 9:

Oh, it's got the tapered base. That's big. Right. I'll get on TikTok and I'll see a video I'm like okay how's the core love it love it Stanley Cup okay something else Stanley Cup one more Stanley Cup video oh my gosh that and Target

01:42:06 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 3:

Target's overrated oh here are some more that are going to cause some problems for you ready for this one Harry Potter

01:42:18 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 7:

I kind of agree

01:42:20 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 10:

I feel like that's like the Star Wars reference that Megan made that if you have these franchises that actually literally created billions of dollars and generational fandom. I feel like you can't say it's overrated, just say it's not my thing.

01:42:35 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 3:

Lulu Lemon.

01:42:37 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, overrated.

01:42:39 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 3:

And Juana, who do you want to add to this list?

01:42:43 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 7:

Alright, don't hate me, but I can't stand Taylor's list. She's so overrated, I'm sorry. I can't believe you would say such

01:42:51 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 10:

We don't agree with that as a show

01:42:58 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 4:

I can't imagine what the Swifties are doing in their cars right now

01:43:02 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 3:

And we'll end on Josh Josh, the most overrated things

01:43:07 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 1:

The Mojo in the Morning show, man Yeah

01:43:11 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 3:

Agreed

01:43:11 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we absolutely agree Amen I started with that

01:43:15 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 3:

Amen I agree with you I'll be honest with you Oh, he hangs on the phone. You don't want to be honest with me? Oh, he meant it. Motherf*****. I'll be honest with you. We all admit, we ain't that good. But you know what? We'll take whatever we get, right?

01:43:33 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 8:

Mojo, you out of the bath.

01:43:35 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 3:

Come on now. Oh, thank you very much.

01:43:36 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 10:

All right, let Shannon go to the bathroom now.

01:43:38 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo on the morning show. So, Megan, what's the story with you and the boss, Tony?

01:43:45 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, the amount of disrespect that Tony shows me on a regular, can you hear me right now?

01:43:50 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 3:

Tony is not on the phone. Do you want me to call him real quick?

01:43:52 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Well, I just need him to know how disrespectful he is.

01:43:56 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Do you want him to hear this? Well, you know he's always listening. It's fine.

01:44:01 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 4:

We'll fight. It's fine.

01:44:03 - 01:44:06 | Speaker 3:

He's probably stuck in traffic right now on 96 as we speak.

01:44:06 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 4:

I'm glad. That makes me happy.

01:44:08 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 3:

Do you hope he stays there for a while?

01:44:10 - 01:44:10 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:44:10 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. I hope he has a miserable day.

01:44:13 - 01:44:13 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:44:15 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Because I had one of those days yesterday. you ever have one of those days where like all you're doing is running from place to place to place yes all i had was meetings all day yesterday we had a really long morning show meeting i had a meeting for the ywca which is the the women's shelter here in toledo we were doing some stuff for that and during that meeting for the women's shelter um i i had a question because it had to do with like research and stuff and i was like you know who knows about this our boss tony because he does this for his job so you know he's a brain i'd like to pick for a few minutes so i send him a text message I said hey I'm getting out of this meeting around like 5 15 are you busy can I shoot you a call I've got a really quick question about research and he texted me back and he's like yeah sure no problem I'll be available just call me when you can so shoot him a call

01:45:00 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 2:

it gets declined he goes hey I'm stuck in a meeting that ran over I was like cool no problem call me when you're done because I had been running around all day I ran into uh get some dinner so I picked up some dinner I got in my car he hasn't called me yet all right that's fine I start driving home he still hasn't called me I pull up into my driveway and I go if I go inside my dog's gonna go crazy I really want to eat and I'm waiting for this phone call my dog will just bark the whole time I'll just I'll eat in my car and I'll wait for him to give me a call back and I can like eat in peace it had been a really long day this was like some me time so I open up TikTok and I'm scrolling through I'm eating my dinner whatever literally sitting in my car in the driveway and eventually I look up and I realize it's been an hour and a half and my boss still hasn't called me back because that man is going to lie to you and say he got caught up in a meeting and that is false, false, false information. Hold on, Tony Travato. He forgot about me. He forgot.

01:45:59 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 4:

Tony, equal opportunity here. You cannot be disparaged on this one. You could call your attorneys and file a lawsuit against her. But what did you want to say to this, Tony?

01:46:09 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm playing the violin right now for you, Megan. I was in a meeting until 7 o'clock, and then I called you. Actually, I don't remember exactly what time, but I called you, and you sent me on the first ring to voicemail. You showed me.

01:46:32 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 2:

So, fun fact, this is also what Shrimpgate was happening with the TikTok, so I was in the bathroom.

01:46:40 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

01:46:41 - 01:46:56 | Speaker 2:

We were not getting picked up, but also, after your two-hour window, I'm done with you, because I'm only going to pick up the phone and curse at you. I think he's lying. I'd like to put him on a lie detector test, because I don't I don't think he was on a phone call meeting until seven o'clock at night on the East Coast.

01:46:56 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 3:

I think that's a malarkey. I mean, anytime any of us are trying to grab Tony here in the office. I mean, this guy is on meetings, I think, 18 hours a day, live meetings, phone meetings, Zoom chats. He's always in a meeting. But the funny part is at the beginning of this conversation, as soon as Megan started bringing up, I thought, oh, boy, here we go again. Megan always complain about somebody not reaching out to her. And we always find out the same result. She didn't read her texts or her emails. She always complains, I didn't get this. And then we find out she was on it. She just has 13,000 unopened emails.

01:47:28 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I was on my phone. I could see he wasn't calling.

01:47:31 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 4:

Tony, just be happy that you're added to the list of people that Megan hates. Just know that.

01:47:40 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 1:

It's become quite the honor, actually.

01:47:41 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it is.

01:47:42 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 1:

Good company.

01:47:43 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 4:

It is very, very good company. What was it that you wanted to talk to him about? You can talk about it right now in front of all of us and the listeners.

01:47:50 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's very exciting stuff. We need research and development done on a project that we're working on. And I know that Tony has done research for our morning show before. And I just didn't know what expectations on responses were. You're lying. Riveting information. No. Really? You're lying. Yeah.

01:48:07 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I was going to say, that sounds like such BS.

01:48:11 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 2:

We're doing a capital campaign and we need research done. I was like, the only person I know who does research is Tony.

01:48:15 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 4:

Look at you, hoity-toity. We're doing research.

01:48:19 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 2:

We're doing a razor. I'm not doing it.

01:48:21 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 4:

Word is not really radio, people. We do research on a capital campaign. What is a capital campaign? To get money.

01:48:27 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 2:

We're raising funds for their building renovations. Oh, okay.

01:48:31 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm sitting here going, the whole time I'm going, Megan's talking like really smart stuff right now.

01:48:37 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 3:

It's very honor-like. Great work she's doing, and it's amazing.

01:48:40 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 4:

That's the smartest thing I've ever heard anyone say about anything.

01:48:45 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 2:

The bar for me truly is so low. I have a college degree.

01:48:51 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 3:

So to recap, you were disappointed that the executive vice president of programming for the largest media company in the United States didn't immediately drop his work to help you with your after work thing.

01:49:05 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 2:

No, but I love that you're trying to twist this to make me the bad guy. Because what happened was I sent him a text asking if he was available. He said yes. I called him. He wasn't. And then he ignored me for hours. How am I the bad guy?

01:49:18 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 3:

That detail was left out.

01:49:20 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 2:

No, it wasn't. I said I texted him during the meeting. Can I call him? And he said, sure. And then I called him.

01:49:24 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know he said it right away.

01:49:25 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 2:

And he said he was busy.

01:49:27 - 01:49:28 | Unknown:

That's right.

01:49:28 - 01:49:30 | Speaker 2:

So how am I the bad guy, Spike?

01:49:30 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

Tony, the defendant, do you have words for why you did tell her to call and then you didn't answer your phone?

01:49:36 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 1:

I don't really. But what I was going to say about your research project is we're just going to do like all other research projects on this, Megan. And we'll just make up the data and present it to say whatever you want it to say.

01:49:50 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 2:

Beautiful. That's what I like to hear. That is what I like to hear.

01:49:53 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 1:

There you go. Done.

01:49:55 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

I think it's wonderful. I think that this is good. We got you guys back to talking to each other.

01:50:00 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 2:

Now we can do what we do for, like, War of the Roses and say, we're going to let you guys talk off the air about this research, whatever. Okay? Then we can check it off your list, and you both are happy.

01:50:13 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. A lot of poor hiring decisions made by management led to this show, which explains Megan for sure. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:51:21 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:51:23 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

01:51:25 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 2:

So the Department of Justice has launched this big investigation to review how some classified documents from Joe Biden's vice presidency were found in a Washington, D.C. office for his think tank. Attorney General Merrick Garland has called on the U.S. attorney in Chicago to review the 10 files discovered by Biden's personal attorneys at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. Not sure what the content of these unclassified documents are, is, but follows the raid on Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort last year. Obviously, that made big news for lots of reasons. This report states the docs were found while Biden's attorneys were packing up the office to leave. And legal experts are making a big note here that presidents have the constitutional and statutory power to declassify and take records with them when they leave office. But vice presidents do not have the same.

01:52:18 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 3:

Did they do the raid thing like they did on Donald Trump? No, his own lawyers found him.

01:52:23 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was his personal attorneys. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers fueling the fire for all of those rumors that he might be hanging up his helmet.

01:52:33 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 1:

At some point, the carousel comes to a stop and it's time to get off. And I think you kind of know when that is. And that's what needs to be contemplated, you know, is the time. But the competitive fire is always going to be there. I don't think it ever goes away. Sometimes it gets transferred, I think, to other things that might not ever fill that large void. But like I said, I feel good about what I've accomplished in this league and wouldn't have any regrets walking away. But I've got to see what it feels like once I get away from this.

01:53:00 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 3:

I like that analogy. Sometimes the carousel comes to a stop. That's interesting.

01:53:05 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 2:

Breaking Bad star Brian Cranston. Mojo, I know you love him. I love that.

01:53:09 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 3:

Breaking Bad. I just started re-watching him.

01:53:11 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 2:

I know. Yeah, I remember you saying that. Well, he sat down to do a little appearance on Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, that podcast, and he was talking about how he lost his virginity to a prostitute. The experience went down during a trip to Europe with his buddies. He was 16 years old and in Austria at the time, okay?

01:53:31 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 4:

And she grabbed the money and grabbed my hand and said, eh, like...

01:53:36 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my Lord.

01:53:38 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 4:

And I went, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God, this is happening, this is happening, oh, my God, oh, my God, oh, my God. We go into this room. There's a single bed. There's a sink and a trash can. That's it.

01:53:50 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Jesus. So I had this.

01:53:52 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 4:

And she goes, you know, she points to my clothes like, eh. You know, like this. She's preparing her sand. She really sets the mood. Oh, my God. Ah!

01:54:00 - 01:54:02 | Unknown:

Ah! Ah! Ah!

01:54:03 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 4:

Ah! Yeah. I had to stand up while taking my clothes off, and I put it on a hook. And she goes, ah, ah, come on. You know, and I knew it was like, my God, I was so nervous that I didn't really feel anything. I was just, my brain was on fire.

01:54:23 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 2:

Can't play any more than that, which is kind of interesting. 16 years old, lost his virginity to a prostitute in Europe.

01:54:30 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't think we need any more than that. But it's interesting when this question has been asked of other celebrities, how many celebrities have admitted that that's the case? because I can't remember who the other celebrity recently was that did that, but admitted it in a podcast. Podcast, man. By the way, losing your virginity that way is kind of a tough losing your virginity.

01:54:51 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I think it's horrible.

01:54:53 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

I mean, because you're, I mean, they're a professional sex worker. You know what I mean? Like, it's, I don't know. What do you mean it's tough?

01:55:01 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 5:

Like you're not getting your money's worth? Well, no. It's over in five seconds.

01:55:03 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm saying that you got to live up to that for your sexual experience after that. I think losing my virginity was the worst thing that ever happened in my life.

01:55:13 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:55:13 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 3:

Why? Because it was bad. It was just awkward. It was bad. I don't think it's good for very few people. We were apologizing to each other and everything. So the next time I had sex, it was so much better. I was like, wow, this is actually good.

01:55:26 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're saying the bar was set high. The bar was set really high. Okay, I see where you're going

01:55:30 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly It's like having your first meal as a baby Being done by, you know, Emeril Lagasse

01:55:37 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 5:

You have nothing to compare it to You don't know it's good You're just, to me, it's just I don't know I guess you're just disappointing a stranger Instead of someone you're dating

01:55:48 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 7:

But isn't it also healthy to be with somebody who Like shows you what to do Instead of two people not knowing what they're doing

01:55:55 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 3:

Just flopping around I'm going to say this to you She's telling him, take your clothes off, hang it on the hook. It doesn't sound like she's telling him what to do. It's very transactional.

01:56:03 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 7:

Well, I watched this documentary one time called Pretty Woman, and that's not how it happened.

01:56:08 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, people who were hanging out at Miami's Palace Bars Drag Brunch over the weekend noticed that Joey Fatone from NSYNC was there as well. He was just hanging out, attending the show, having a Bloody Mary, whatever. Well jumped up to perform Bye Bye Bye with all of the performers How cool is this

01:56:30 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 6:

And you're now qualified for $10,000 in free groceries with our Mojo in the Morning 10K Kroger Grocery Grab.

01:57:39 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, Mojo in the Morning. I love you guys.

01:57:42 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 3:

Love you, too. Where are you from?

01:57:44 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 2:

I am from West Side of Detroit.

01:57:46 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 3:

We love you so much. Thank you so much for listening to the show. So let me tell you a little bit about this Kroger delivery refrigerated trucks and delivery pros bringing full, fresh and friendly groceries right to your front doorstep. It's the Kroger blue delivery trucks. This isn't the other, you know, services that you've used before where somebody in a in a, you know, a car, you know, some of your potato chips. Yeah, exactly. These are the pros that are bringing it to you. And matter of fact, Lauren, you text in, and I told them, I was like, call these guys up, because I've never used Kroger Delivery. I haven't done it yet, and I've done everything else at Kroger, stuff that I'm not even allowed to talk about. But tell us about Kroger Delivery.

01:58:32 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 1:

I like it because every time I order Kroger Delivery, it's there on time. My food is kept in a temperature-controlled truck, which I like. And the fact that I never get a text saying, oh, we're out of this product. All my products are always there. Really? All the food I'm looking for is always there. Instacart, there was always, like, six text messages saying, oh, they're out of this product, so do you want a replacement? I'm like, no.

01:58:56 - 01:59:08 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible. That's good news. That is so great to hear. Okay, so real quick, I just wanted to, and by the way, this is one of those things where if it was a TV commercial, it would say, you're not a paid actor underneath, right? You're a listener, right?

01:59:09 - 01:59:09 | Unknown:

Correct.

01:59:10 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's amazing. All right, I'm going to try it out. You got me sold. That's a great idea, especially the sold on the whole replacement thing because that's the biggest pain in the butt with using any of the other delivery services. They never get you the right thing because I don't think they're looking.

01:59:23 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. And the guys who drive the truck, they put the groceries not in front of your door like Instacart does where I got to go through my side door to get to my front door and move the groceries.

01:59:33 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 5:

They block the front door. That's the best. It's such a simple detail.

01:59:37 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much for all the info. We appreciate you so much, and keep listening to Try to Win Some Free Groceries. don't miss this when we come back here next you remember the second date update from yesterday where it was they're not going to date anymore because their friend was dating before this guy well in a second is it weirder if

02:00:00 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 1:

If it's not a friend, but it's a sibling, breakup or makeup is next. Don't go anywhere.

02:00:07 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. What does she do to that guy? She slept with the entire Arizona Cardinals offensive line. Should the guy dump her? You decide. With breakup or makeup, next on Mojo in the Morning. Be part of the show. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:00:30 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 1:

mojo the morning show so having a amazing discussion off the air with our listener that's going to come on the air right now and explain their situation that is extremely awkward um remember we were talking in second date update about girl code and it was the girl that was dating a guy and guy turned out you know that he dated not dated or went out for a drink with one of her friends and we were talking about you know okay that's really not that bad it's not that close we then got contacted by a listener that told us their situation where they are actually in a relationship with someone but starting to have like weird thoughts right now about what's going on I'm gonna voice disguise you I'm gonna give you an alias too have you ever wanted to be called Alyssa because that's gonna be your name I'll take it you're okay with that all right perfect sure I figure I'm gonna pick something completely away from what your actual name is so Alyssa a breakup or makeup tell us um about your dating situation that is by the way high drama

02:01:56 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 2:

it's got some drama yeah um so basically the story is um i've been with my man drake for

02:02:07 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 1:

about two years now by the way did you just say his name or is that not his name You just said his name Oh my god That's alright Okay Alright Go ahead Okay Go ahead What happened

02:02:23 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay well we've been dating for two years But before we dated I used to hook up with his twin brother Who I'll make up a fake name for Let's call him Aaron

02:02:35 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 4:

This girl's so brave Okay

02:02:38 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 2:

um he dated in college and like my man knows about that he doesn't care there's no drama there but where it gets sticky is um over the holidays uh everybody was in town and I got to hang out with him and his brother and um I just I can't stop thinking about his brother and I feel like Yeah And like I love Drake But like I I feel like I have feelings for his brother And I don't know what to do about that I don't know how to navigate that

02:03:15 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 1:

Are they identical twins?

02:03:19 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 2:

They yeah

02:03:20 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay so identical twins They look exactly alike But there's something obviously different

02:03:25 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 3:

Well personality wise And what is his brother's relationship situation right now?

02:03:32 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 2:

He's single

02:03:33 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh boy

02:03:34 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 2:

wow so yeah here no he does i mean he doesn't live here he let you know he lives a little farther nothing crazy you know it's like a two-hour drive but you know so can i ask a real

02:03:46 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 3:

dumb question why are we doing breakup or makeup because to me that's pretty obvious you're you

02:03:52 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 2:

can't stop thinking about somebody else yeah i mean it's i it's just it's rough because we've I've been together for two years, and I do love him, and I don't want to be like, ooh, I saw this guy. I mean, it's his brother, so it's not just this guy.

02:04:07 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 4:

But your heart is somewhere else.

02:04:09 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 3:

If this relationship moves forward, you're going to be around his brother for the rest of your life.

02:04:14 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 1:

But can I say this, though? Don't you sometimes get feelings, and then sometimes you can lose feelings? Sometimes you have a thought. Well, for sure. Maybe it's not. For sure, but there's a past here. Maybe you've got to let this thing simmer a little bit.

02:04:26 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 3:

There's a past here. Yeah.

02:04:27 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 2:

and i think like even if the brother even if even if his brother's like oh yeah i miss you you're the one like that's not gonna work either like i'm kind of like stuck in this like is anything gonna work out moment well at least you owe a little honesty if you're not gonna cut

02:04:47 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 4:

off ties and not talk to the brother anymore then you need to tell the dude hey i'm a little confused right now and like if i were in a relationship and someone was constantly thinking about someone else, I want to know.

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to be with you.

02:05:01 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 2:

All right, here's questions. I'm going to throw it to the listeners. I'm going to ask the listeners to help out with this. I want to ask one question. Okay, she's dated the brother. They're twins. Now she's got feelings for the brother. Should she, like, explore those feelings? Should she say, forget it? I'm not exploring those feelings. I am not, you know, in a happy relationship. Like, it sounds like you're in with, you know, his brother. Should she stop using names on the air That are going to get her in trouble Even though we are trying to voice disguise her No What do you guys think 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 This is breakup or makeup Should she break up Or should she stay in this relationship I guess makeup would not be the other option It would just be breakup Or be quiet maybe Maybe that's the gist of this whole thing um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number 844 mojo live oh geez ah kp said that she's got a crazy call that's been taking her some time to have a conversation with uh let me grab some calls here and then we'll take that kp what's up mojo in the morning

02:06:18 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 4:

hello hi hi what are your thoughts yeah i just wanted to weigh in on the whole relationship thing yes um i do not think that she should continue with that relationship because it's just gonna get messy no matter how she goes with it it's just gonna turn into an entire mess she's gonna keep thinking about the brother and then she's still gonna be in love with the other brother

02:06:45 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 2:

So should she break up To be with the other brother Or break up with both of these guys

02:06:51 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 4:

She should just leave it alone It's not going to be a good thing If she gets with the other brother She's still going to have feelings for

02:06:57 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh so you're saying just stay in her relationship Or break up

02:07:01 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 3:

No just break up Walk away from the brothers

02:07:05 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay Mojo in the morning Your thoughts break up or move on What do you think Hello hello hello who's this nicole hey can you hear me there you are yeah you're gonna bluetooth

02:07:22 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 5:

sometimes bluetooth get caught off yeah definitely was um but yeah so my advice is break up honestly if you try to explore like the feelings with that other like with the brother you're gonna feel so awkward and uncomfortable and like situations if anything actually went further with it um not Not only that, but you don't want to know, like, what the family thinks either.

02:07:46 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, even already, even already at this point, her boyfriend is aware of this. Like, that is going to create so much insecurity for him, right? I'm sure it already has. Yes, yes. Unfortunately, yeah, there are so many other things. Like, even if nothing else happens, it's already in his brain now.

02:08:06 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but when you do it, you don't want to make them, you don't want to make that up to your partner feeling insecure about anything.

02:08:10 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 2:

KP tells me to pick up this line here Hi, Mojo in the morning Who is this on the phone with us?

02:08:21 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 6:

Hi, this is This is Drake And This is Alyssa

02:08:27 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

02:08:28 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 6:

I know it's you

02:08:30 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 2:

So you know who You're the Drake that Alyssa was talking to? Talking about?

02:08:36 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's pretty obvious, actually

02:08:38 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Alyssa, is this Drake on the phone? Do you recognize the voice? Yeah, that's him. I mean, you asked us, for the record, we did voice disguise you. We were going to try and keep you anonymous, but then you started dropping names and talking about twins, and I think it kind of narrowed it down for him.

02:08:55 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Can I pull you off of voice disguise so you can hear him?

02:08:59 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, okay. Baby, come out.

02:09:04 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 2:

Do you want... Sorry, yeah. Why don't I do this?

02:09:07 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Can you take you off voice disguise?

02:09:08 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 2:

Why don't I do this? Why don't I have you guys talk here? Hold on one second. I'm going to have you guys talk off the air for a second, okay? Hold on one second, and I'm going to put you on conference call with him. All right? Don't go anywhere. Drake, hang on the phone too.

02:09:25 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, boy.

02:09:26 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, we tried. I mean. We did our part. We tried to see if we can help her and make it a non-awkward situation or non-situation,

02:09:39 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 3:

but it turned into a people are texting in this there should be a new segment and it should be

02:09:42 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

called breakup or just shut up paying your bills with a thousand dollars in like less than 10 minutes plus six on sex on the way and something that has never happened on a six on sex in the history of six on sex you'll hear that coming up here in just a matter of a moment

02:10:00 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show. Reese had something happen to him that, to be honest with you, is kind of scary. Which, speaking of scary, you look scary today, Reese.

02:10:11 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 7:

Do I? Don't like the head, do you?

02:10:14 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 3:

No, you walked in to the studios this morning and you had- On time. You had a, well, right on time. Maybe two and a half minutes late, which I thought yesterday when you were over an hour late, You'd probably be like maybe an hour early today, but you walked in and you were wearing a hoodie, the Mojo in the Morning Show hoodie, with a baseball hat on and you had the hood up and I got kind of scared. I'm like, who is that guy? It's the Idaho killer. It's right. Honestly, I started thinking to myself, I'm like, this guy looks like the guy that you see on a ring cam where they say a suspicious character was walking around. We'll have to look at our security cameras.

02:10:55 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 7:

We got to post it on social so everyone can put their two cents in now.

02:10:58 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so you had a suspicious character that you actually let in your house or your apartment?

02:11:06 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 7:

Yep. Not too long ago, some random guy comes to my place, and he said that he has to turn the stove off. And he looked like a legit dude. He had the construction hat on. He had one of those vest things on. He even had a bulletin in his hand. So he looked like a legit dude. What do you mean turn the stove off? Great question. There wasn't even any issues with it whatsoever. before either like it was pretty random so i let him in it happened really fast he kind of like checked out the stove got under it and turned it off and then he left he said as he was leaving that someone would be there within like a couple weeks to fix it couple weeks nobody has been there it's been it's been months i mean i want to say it's been about three months now so you've had no stove no stove what did you call your landlord yeah so i call my landlord i call consumers i call dte i call everywhere i'm trying to figure out why this guy even turned it off in the first place nobody has any anything about sending anyone out so they all even your landlord didn't say

02:12:10 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 5:

people were going to the building because don't they usually shoot out an email or a text or

02:12:14 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 4:

whatever and say we're gonna have yeah that's weird yeah if you didn't call for maintenance and your landlord knows nothing about it i've heard of those stories where people will case the joint and like see if you're if it's a place worth robbing so they'll pretend their maintenance and come in and apartments you don't know every person that works there on the property so you're you're likely to say oh okay look let them in that's what i thought was happening to me with

02:12:38 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 5:

the wet the wet bandits yeah oh yeah said they were working with dte whatever happened with that weapon well remember i gave an update they came and they did they did the actual work and they came with dte like whatever company they worked for was contracted through dte but i did the same thing that reese did i called dte and said these two gentlemen came to my house and they scared me at first and said we have no record your house is not on our list of you know projects in the neighborhood and then somebody called me back and said oh wait we made a mistake it is um so i knew it was legit but if you said you've called everywhere and they everywhere and nobody has any idea that worries me and also they would not leave you without a stove for a couple of weeks

02:13:19 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 7:

there's no way and so the maintenance guy came out and he even said that he talked to my leasing office he talked to a few people about this and they have no idea who it was or why that guy was

02:13:30 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 3:

there it's a good time to bring up again don't let people into your house unless you know for a fact who they are make them show you identification make them show you you know credentials make sure if you live in an apartment that you talk to your leasing people or your landlord ahead of time. Reese, listeners are telling us at 95500 that you better look inside that stove. There's probably like some kind of a tracker or something.

02:13:56 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 7:

I was thinking that, like a camera or something. I mean, that would be like so random and weird. I feel like you wouldn't do that, but I don't know. Like, I really have no nothing about that.

02:14:09 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 1:

Or if he was casing the joint, How upsetting is it that you didn't have anything worth stealing?

02:14:16 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Actually, Adam asked the question. Adam, what's your question?

02:14:20 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, it sounds like Reese doesn't have anything worth of value at his house for the guy to steal.

02:14:26 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, wait, what is the most expensive? Let's do this, Adam. Let's ask Reese. What is the most valuable item that you have in there? Is it your work laptop? Probably the Christmas tree that you gave me. although it doesn't have the uh gift cards as many gift cards i know yeah i picked those off it did before adam isn't that crazy that that you you know you think that you can trust people

02:14:49 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 2:

these days you cannot trust people i don't trust anybody nowadays not nowadays so can i tell you

02:14:54 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

the funny one too go check out our facebook i'm looking at the picture of reese and the comments that people are making adam you can't

02:15:00 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 1:

He came in, obviously, you know, just dressed in a sweatshirt hoodie, you know, with a baseball head on, but had the hoodie over the top and that look on his face. The funniest is Virginia Sanchez, who wrote, gives me a little Joe vibes.

02:15:14 - 02:15:15 | Speaker 3:

There was a couple of those.

02:15:16 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 1:

It looks like Joe from, was it me?

02:15:18 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 3:

From you.

02:15:19 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 1:

Or you, I mean, you. And he's got the look in it. This guy looks like you. It does. He's got the thing there. You do. Reese The other one that I thought The text that I thought was interesting was You said the guy was holding a bulletin And I was like wait a second Did he just go to church And he got like a church bulletin Yeah what do you mean What's a bulletin

02:15:37 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 3:

Or like a bulletin board You know A clipboard

02:15:40 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 1:

Like a clipboard Ah yeah A bulletin A clipboard Yeah He was holding a bulletin I gotcha Wouldn't it be funny though If he did have like a full bulletin board I probably still would have let him in honestly Thumbtacks and stuff attached to the whole thing? You, by the way, worry me. Why? I just worry about you because you're just such a sweet guy. I'm afraid that you're going to get taken advantage of. Do you know that next year Luke is going away to college and we're going to be empty nesters, Chelsea and I? Why don't you move in with us? You want me to? You'll have your choice of the boys' rooms. You can pick which room you want the most. I'd take Joe's. It's probably remnants of marijuana somewhere.

02:16:20 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 2:

You're inviting him right after he admits He'll just let any stranger in the house. Yeah, Mojo does the same thing.

02:16:25 - 02:16:29 | Speaker 1:

No, he won't let – no, I do not let strangers in my house.

02:16:29 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 5:

Just the pizza guy, the DoorDash guy.

02:16:32 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 1:

I let them come in and use my potty, and I'm just a nice person. They brought me something. I at least know what they do. But I'm saying, Reese, I'm a little worried that you should not be on your own.

02:16:42 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 3:

You think?

02:16:43 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So could you imagine that? I can have you come and live there. And I'll tell you what, I wouldn't charge you rent. I'm not doing this to try to make money. I would have you work it off with chores where you have to sit around and talk to me, which is a chore.

02:17:00 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, which is worse?

02:17:01 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 3:

You know, I think my lease on my apartment goes for a while now. Free rent? I would hate to break that. I just offered them free rent.

02:17:09 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 5:

Somebody said the same exact thing happened with the stove, and they ended up finding a microphone.

02:17:15 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:17:15 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 5:

so somebody was listening to their conversations and trying to figure out when they'd be home when

02:17:20 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 3:

they were not home i'm not gonna lie i feel like that really could kind of be the case because this guy was like under my stove for a minute and he was like playing with random things and then he just like ran off like he really didn't give me much of an explanation he just kind of

02:17:33 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 1:

like and left ran out yeah i think that he was definitely doing what spike said i think he was casing the place and i and i think he looked around it's kind of like did he was he focused mainly on the stove or did he look around your place a little bit he was pretty focused on the stove yeah uh kim what's up so about 10 years ago this happened to my ex's grandma she lived

02:17:56 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 6:

down in hamtramck and a couple guys showed up at her door she was i want to say nine years of time they showed up at her door oh there's a gas leak we need to check out one of the guys kept her outside on the porch the other one went inside they rummaged through her house She's an old Polish lady, so she kept a lot of cash around. They rummaged through her house, and then later we figured out they took about $10,000 in cash.

02:18:20 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. First of all, what is she doing with $10,000 cash in the house?

02:18:25 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 6:

She's an old Polish lady. Yeah. So, you know, they believe in the cash. Don't trust the banks.

02:18:29 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

02:18:30 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. You get it? Shortly after that, the family took away all her money and had to keep it all in the house, everything.

02:18:36 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I wouldn't take away all her money. I would put her in one of your family's homes just to protect her. Would she like to live with me? Reese is not wanting to. You're going to have your old Polish grandma live with us.

02:18:49 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 4:

Is she a talker?

02:18:51 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 1:

I'll take galumki and pierogies if she'll make them homemade for me as payment.

02:18:55 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, for sure.

02:18:56 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 2:

Six on six. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking. Isn't that a...

02:19:04 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 1:

Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, six on sex. Kiana? Yes? Are you sure you're going to do this to your daddy? Yes.

02:19:15 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 4:

Now he's driving, and I hope that you're not telling anything so shocking that he's going to get into an accident, heaven forbid.

02:19:23 - 02:19:24 | Unknown:

Pull over.

02:19:24 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Maybe we should get more. Hold on a second. All right, let's pick him up. Dad, it's Mojo in the morning. You are currently on the road as a truck driver, and Kiana said she wants you to pull over because she's worried about you driving right now. Really? Why is that? Because we're going to do a contest here. And, Kiana, will you tell your dad the name of the contest?

02:19:47 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 6:

It's called Six on Six.

02:19:49 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 1:

It's called what?

02:19:51 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 6:

Six on Six.

02:19:54 - 02:19:54 | Unknown:

All right.

02:19:55 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Dad, are you okay with your voice being on the radio? Sure, that's fine.

02:19:59 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 6:

Dad.

02:20:00 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 3:

We asked Kiana six very personal questions about her sex life. You just have to sit back and listen. And if you stay on the phone, she wins a prize. If you hang up, she loses.

02:20:13 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I love you.

02:20:15 - 02:20:16 | Unknown:

I love you too.

02:20:18 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 3:

Are you ready for us to go? Yeah. Question number one, Kiana and her truck driving dad. Kiana, how old were you when you lost your virginity? 13.

02:20:32 - 02:20:32 | Unknown:

13.

02:20:35 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm still on the phone.

02:20:36 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 3:

You're still on the phone. Okay, I was wondering if you knew. Did you know that, Dad?

02:20:41 - 02:20:42 | Unknown:

No, I didn't.

02:20:43 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Question number two in Six on Sex. Kiana, how many people have you had sex with? Eight guys. Eight guys?

02:20:53 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and four girls. Oh, okay. So 12 total?

02:20:58 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes. So, eight guys and four girls. All right.

02:21:06 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 1:

Dad, did you know that?

02:21:08 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 3:

He's still on the phone. He's telling us. He's giving us updates that he's still on the phone. Kiana, interesting that you do the whole eight guys, four girls thing. Were the girls just an experiment or?

02:21:20 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, just experimentation. Two of them was a short relationship.

02:21:25 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's not experimenting. Yeah, okay. Okay. Kiana, next question here in Six on Sex. Have you ever had a threesome, foursome, or fivesome? I've had a threesome. I'm sorry, I can't hear you with the outdoor wind noise of your dad. Can you say it louder? I've had a threesome.

02:21:44 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry, I can't hear you. Can you scream it louder? I've had a threesome before. Oh, my God. Just once?

02:21:52 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 3:

No. Three. Oh, three times three. There's a lot of math involved here. Dad, you're still there because I can still hear the wind noise, right?

02:22:03 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Dad, so I'm fine. He's rolling down the window more to get some air to make sure he keeps breathing through all this.

02:22:12 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 3:

Any commentary, Dad? Would you like to say anything else? No. Okay. Question number four in Six on Sex. uh kiana have you ever had sex in your parents house and almost got caught

02:22:28 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 1:

are you there dad yeah it was regular hand supports i remember that oh boy that can't be

02:22:36 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 3:

easy to see kiana we lost kiana this is the first time ever that we've had the contestant hang up on We lost dad, too. Oh, jeez. They both hung up on us. That has been Six on Sex. A hang-up. So she doesn't get the prize, right? Yeah, she loses. Both hung up. If you would like to be on a Six on Sex, which by the way, I think that's the first time we've ever had both contestants. or the contestant and the dad or mom hang up the phone. Text SEX to 95500. If you'd like to be on a 6 on Sex, text SEX to 95500 and we'll get you on a future show. Our producer, KP, would you ever do 6 on Sex with Mama KP on the phone?

02:23:28 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not.

02:23:30 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 3:

You know, Megan did it with her dad.

02:23:33 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. My mom would not love that.

02:23:35 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 3:

I think it's your turn. No. Actually, Mama KP, I would never do six on sex with mama KP on the phone either. I'll tell you what, you'd be parenting me too. Mojo in the morning, six on sex. Mojo in the morning show. So when things happen to you, KP, KP is our producer. When things happen to you, do you tell your mom right away that you're going to bring it up on the radio? Or do you just get her call later that day to say, what the hell happened?

02:24:08 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 2:

Get her call later.

02:24:10 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good. Well, this is going to be one of those ones where your mom is going to be calling you later. Because guess what happened to KP at work?

02:24:17 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. What? Should I tell him?

02:24:21 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 3:

Sure. I think you should.

02:24:23 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay. So I have been chatting with this new guy. Little sneak peek. We are no longer speaking. But I was working and recording my show, and he decides to randomly FaceTime me. And I'm like, oh, that's kind of sweet.

02:24:38 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 1:

you know fun is this the guy that you and i have been talking about that you said you really really

02:24:41 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 2:

like him like you think you really no okay okay okay nope did he tell you first because i feel

02:24:46 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 3:

like you shouldn't just facetime someone without saying hey you want to face the funny thing was

02:24:49 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 2:

he had been like spam messaging me all of a sudden and i was like oh he must really want to get a hold of me he really really did need to get a hold of me because when i opened up that facetime call it was not his

02:25:00 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 5:

face that i was looking at yeah what were you oh no it was um i'm trying to think it was another

02:25:10 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 4:

body part he wait a second he whipped it out on his first video chat yes was he naked or was he

02:25:17 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 2:

he was totally butt naked i love penises and facetimed you out of nowhere oh yeah no you've You've never met him in person? No. Oh, wait. Absolutely no.

02:25:28 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 4:

No wonder you're not talking to him anymore. Who are these guys? Why?

02:25:35 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 5:

This is what it's like to date as a 20-something-year-old woman.

02:25:38 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 6:

I'm so glad you just said that because I can't wait for Mojo to tell you how that's not reality. Nope.

02:25:44 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 5:

It's reality. It's everyday. We live in this kind of world.

02:25:47 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, let me just say this. Thank God we did not have technology like that when we were much younger, but I'm going to say I would never do that.

02:25:56 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 4:

No, and I don't understand why guys are still doing this because we keep talking about it in the air. I feel like for 15 years now, since phones had cameras on them, I think we've been saying no woman wants to receive a picture or a video of your junk.

02:26:11 - 02:26:27 | Speaker 5:

But a video is worse because you have to react. And that's happened to me before as well where they send me like a Snapchat at random and actually the person that did that to me in the past, it was an accident. I didn't even know them and they ended up there. I was removed off Snapchat after they sent it.

02:26:27 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if video is worse than some of the household objects that have now been ruined for me because of their involvement in these photographs. But I also think. Oh my God.

02:26:37 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 2:

Wait.

02:26:38 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 6:

Like what? I'll never look at a Febreze can, or a Lysol can. It'll never happen. I gotta tell you, I had a thing of Lysol in my house. I threw it out. What are they doing?

02:26:48 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 4:

Are they holding it next to them for size comparison?

02:26:51 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 6:

That, putting it places. It's honestly impressive sometimes. It's really impressive. Anyways, don't send me these. I also think the guys on this show think that this KP is really rare. I get these a couple of times a month from all different sorts of guys. I don't know how often you're getting them. FaceTime calls at work, Megan? No, videos and photos of their junk. I get very regularly from so many people. Not one, like a lot of dudes. Wow.

02:27:25 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 4:

Do girls block them or do you reply?

02:27:27 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 6:

You block them.

02:27:28 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know if you give them a smart-ass insult first and then block.

02:27:32 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 5:

Normally, if someone says something too overly sexual before we've really gotten to that point, I go, that's charming. i don't say anything i just say that's charming and then i see what they say after so kp this guy is somebody that you were interested in before this yes i so yeah he had a shot with you until he facetimed his d yes i just don't appreciate like overly sexual first and foremost messages when i don't even know you i've never even met you how do i have any type of attraction to you before i've seen you in real life right and two why do you think it's okay to send me a video of of your junk while i'm literally at work like yeah and you know what's you know what's amazing

02:28:10 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 3:

is that my penis is not my best feature and and i i would like please please reese somebody grab that yeah but it needs to start the show truth on this one but my penis is not my best feature and to me if that is your best feature or that's your move guys you are you're sad you're a very sad individual that you would just randomly just send your your dork to

02:28:43 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 5:

somebody. Don't get me wrong, those little TikTok videos of guys sending, or like wives sending sexy pictures to their husbands at random in public just to see their reaction. But you're married. That's cute, but you're married. Yeah, you guys have been together. This is someone that I don't even know. We've seen that a bajillion

02:28:59 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 6:

times already. Also, everybody loves boobs. Everybody. Nobody. Yeah. Loves a penis.

02:29:05 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 3:

Can we actually change this around a little bit and have it be, can we change it around and actually have the guys send their wives, or actually no, guys send their brothers pictures of their D and just see what their brother's reaction is on a TikTok reaction, because I want to see the reaction.

02:29:27 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 6:

All right, you do first. Guys, here you go.

02:29:29 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 3:

Guys send their best buddies of their D. Send your best buddies your D, and then they'll

02:29:34 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 6:

do that already that would be funny aren't you guys dolls right don't you look at each other

02:29:39 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 3:

no mojo does we don't i've been known as a meat gazer

02:29:43 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 6:

what's up hannah hi good morning guys good morning so i live in san francisco and a law that california just put into place is that sending unsolicited pictures like that is

02:30:00 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 4:

now illegal and is considered sexual battery. That should be. Not in Michigan, though? I don't think in Michigan quite yet. Or Ohio, I don't believe. The rest of the country follows suit. Well, this guy lived out of state, so if it was illegal in Michigan, would he even be in trouble? I actually did some digging.

02:30:21 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 2:

That actually may be illegal cross-state lines

02:30:25 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 4:

porn or something. I think it is, as long as the crime was committed in the state that you're currently in then because i'm like hell if i get a picture like that from a guy i used to see in michigan while i'm living in california i think i could still take him to court hannah these guys

02:30:39 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 2:

tell me that this happens a lot does this happen to you do you have guys that send you on really and and absolutely have you ever enjoyed one that was sent to you okay funny story the only one that

02:30:53 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 4:

i was interested in seeing so obviously like i said i live in california lots of interesting people out here i did match on a dating app with a browser porn star that did send me a a d-pic wow and that was again i'm like you know what i can probably search and find you anywhere on the internet so i don't know why you should you know you should have done you should

02:31:15 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 2:

have done a reverse image google search to see if the guy's imdb pulls up on his his browser

02:31:21 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 1:

probably well that's that's funny too like how do you know they're even using their own pick Some guys might be, like, catfishing you. Yeah. Well, Jed used to do that.

02:31:31 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 2:

Jed actually used to use. I'm sorry, what? Jed used to send. We talked about this before on our show, and I know Joe and Jed and Ashley did it on their show. But Jed would send a Google image picture because his was never touched up like the ones on Google image were. So he found one that was perfectly make-up, touched up, looked good. I'm sorry. Good photo.

02:31:51 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 4:

Jed sent a catfish D pic to somebody?

02:31:54 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 2:

Yes. And the girl found out because she realized, somebody said, that doesn't look like it was just taken by him.

02:32:01 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 4:

So there was a third party involved with this?

02:32:03 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they showed friends.

02:32:04 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I see.

02:32:05 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What's going on? Voice Disguise Nikki. What's up, Nikki?

02:32:10 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 5:

So right before the holiday, I had a coworker who sent me a bunch of D-pics on Instagram DMs. And when I text them, because it's like a higher up for me, he told me that his phone was hacked.

02:32:23 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. I don't think that'll hold up.

02:32:28 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 2:

You don't think that could have happened, though?

02:32:31 - 02:32:33 | Speaker 3:

It was a coincidence?

02:32:34 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 5:

I feel like it was random that they were sent to me, because this is somebody I've known throughout our career.

02:32:42 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 2:

But does he flirt with you on a regular basis? Because I will say this to you. If my phone gets hacked and I start doing that, and I didn't do it, I don't want to be found guilty of that. Do you think that it was hacked or it was a BS story?

02:32:55 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 5:

i don't know um i don't know because he knows i'm married so i i tend to like believe everybody he actually he told me to screenshot them and he was like screenshot them and i did and then i thought about it after i'm like why did i do that i don't want these pictures on my phone i told my husband and my husband kind of laughed about it so your husband wasn't upset at the co-worker he believed that it was uh a hack job i don't know i know he trusts me so all photos There was like nine or ten of them, very, very graphic. There wasn't just one or two.

02:33:27 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they all have digital fingerprints, so to speak. It's called XIF data, and you can see which camera took the picture, what time it was taken, all that stuff. Even if you think you can't see it, it's all in that photograph.

02:33:38 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 2:

I just think, like, I would go to my work and go to the boss and say, like, hey, let's go to the boss together and tell them this, because if my phone got hacked and somebody started sending D-picks, I don't want people thinking that I sent it, especially if I'm not the person that does. What's up, Tyler? hey what's up man nothing much what did you want to call for uh i'm a i know girls get

02:33:59 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 3:

censored a lot because i grew up like raising my nieces and stuff but even though i'm a guy with a fiance i get girls sending me random like pictures all the time and i'm like i don't i don't ask for these i don't want these and why are you sending them are they sending you boob pics or

02:34:15 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 2:

they sending you the the vagina oh all of it really and do you know these girls or are they

02:34:22 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 3:

just randoms on social media some of the girls i know some of them are randoms and then like obviously on snapchat they'll i would get set spots and i'm like uh i already know there's

02:34:32 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 2:

set boxes i'm just gonna block them huh wow bill says the same thing bill you say that a lot of girls do this too yeah a lot of times guys how are you today good morning this is a different guy this is different than the guy that calls us up with the deep voice is it yeah it is the same guy oh wow i didn't know your name was bill bill you must have amazing d yeah he's giving me big

02:34:58 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

energy right now

02:35:00 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 1:

so what happened to me was i was actually uh so i do some radio and television stuff company as far as voiceovers and all that night i'm i'm in the middle of a commercial you know doing some stuff with some people i got eight people in the room and the phone rings it's turned up your face up and i push the button to turn it off but it turns on and there this person is having a bacon cookies by herself kind of thing and you know this person uh i just met her on on the dating site and it was like really oh wow like a good really or like oh really no well i mean like a well it was interesting i gotta say that

02:36:33 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 6:

All right, Shannon, we're running late. What do you got in the dirty?

02:36:36 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 2:

It still blows my mind that this happened yesterday. Damar Hamlin discharged from UC Medical Center in Ohio, transferred to a Buffalo hospital yesterday, and the physicians who have been caring for him say they are thrilled with the improvements he's made in such a short amount of time. I mean, it's been just over a week.

02:36:56 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 6:

Dr. Prince and I are thrilled and proud on behalf of UC to report to you that DeMar Hamlin has been released and returned to Buffalo. I traveled with him to the airport this morning with our UC Health air care and mobile care crew, including teammates who were with us on the field when DeMar Hamlin collapsed. He landed safely and as standard as anybody who has gone through what he's gone through this past week.

02:37:40 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Emily Ratajkowski has moved on from Pete Davidson to another comedian, in fact, Eric Andre. They were spotted over the weekend in New York City with their arms around one another. And it's looking like Pete has moved on as well to his Bodies, Bodies, Bodies co-star Chase Wee Wonders. They were spotted getting cozy while grabbing some food in Brooklyn yesterday. They were smooching. So definitely more than friends. Can't argue with that one. It is the PG-13 horror movie starring a mean girl robot that everybody is talking about right now. It's called Megan. This is Megan. Hi, Megan. I'm Katie.

02:38:20 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 6:

It's nice to meet you, Katie.

02:38:23 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to hang out?

02:38:24 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 2:

Nobody really predicted that it was going to be as big and successful as it has been. It has earned more than $30 million in sales in the U.S. and Canada since the weekend. 30% more than box office analysts had predicted. In fact, Universal Pictures has already fast-tracked a sequel. So if you've seen it, know that another one is coming. The reviews are great. It's become a sensation on TikTok. The younger generation is all about it.

02:38:51 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 3:

Stop! Don't! Megan! You should probably run.

02:38:57 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, no. There's only one Megan that's going to scare me. And that is my Megan.

02:39:05 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 3:

I hate that I just did that.

02:39:07 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, Megan. And lastly, Cardi B and Offset are doing a Super Bowl commercial. They've teamed up with McDonald's. And I'm told the spot is all about love So they shot the commercial for the Golden Arches Right around Christmas time And all I know about it is that It is a Valentine's themed day ad So be on the lookout for that Are we going to get like one of their meals? Because I would go for a party B meal Maybe For all of today's Dirty Check out the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com

And another world-famous phone scam happens in minutes.

02:39:49 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 6:

So it's funny. We played the Senseless Survey earlier this morning. And after we were into it about a minute or so, we realized that voice sounds very familiar.

02:40:00 - 02:40:22 | Speaker 2:

It was the senseless survey that we did when we called my sister Pat, Aunt Pat, and it was great to see that the listeners recognized it right away because I think you guys recognized it at the same time that we recognized it, but we didn't have it labeled as Aunt Pat. This is senseless survey number 60 when we called Aunt Pat.

02:40:24 - 02:40:35 | Speaker 3:

It's time for an official government survey. it's mojo in the morning senseless survey hello hello ma'am how are you who says i'm calling from

02:40:35 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 6:

an independent survey don't just take about 30 seconds i hate telemarketers you know you know i'm just a person trying to make a living in a really tough economy you ask me a question here's a deal you ask me a question i'll ask you a question you're very angry for uh this early

02:40:48 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 1:

in the morning cutting up fruit right now i'm very busy oh i'll let you get to that i'll just

02:40:53 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 6:

have a couple quick questions for you then.

02:40:55 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay, let's get this over with. I will do this for you just to make you happy because one time I was a telemarketer and I sold carpet cleaning.

02:41:01 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever met a choosy mother that didn't choose Jif? No, I don't want Jif. In a standard deck of cards, which would be considered the race card? Yeah, that would be

02:41:11 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 1:

probably an ace. An ace, okay.

02:41:13 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 6:

Is there wind beneath your wings? Or only in your shorts? I can't believe I'm wasting my time talking to you. We only have three questions left. After eating, do amphibians have to wait one hour before getting out of the water no because people don't even have to wait to get

02:41:28 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 1:

in at the fallacy you're better off swimming after you eat because that way you don't get hungry okay what's your next question because i really have to hurry up i'm sorry i can tell you really

02:41:36 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 6:

have to go uh what's the name of your garage band actually right now i can't even stand in my garage

02:41:41 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 1:

there's so much stuff in my garage right now oh boy my sister bought these uh containers things It's about these flower pots or some goofy thing. I can drive them home, and now they're in my garage.

02:41:54 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 6:

And just the final two questions. When's the last time you had a haircut that made you cry?

02:41:59 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's when I was in high school.

02:42:02 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 6:

When you look at a map, shouldn't the Midwest actually be a little more to the left?

02:42:07 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, actually, probably. I never thought of it, though. So when I teach my class, should I tell them that it really should be a little more to the left?

02:42:14 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, are you a teacher, ma'am? Yeah. Well, then this would be a perfect question for you. Would you support selling alcohol in high schools for students who are over 21?

02:42:22 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't support alcohol at all anyway.

02:42:24 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 6:

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you think you'll like the next question?

02:42:28 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Probably a negative 10, minus 10. Ask me how much I like you.

02:42:33 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 6:

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you like me? Keeping in mind, we really have only known each other for about a minute and a half.

02:42:40 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, first of all, you're really annoying.

02:42:42 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 6:

But all you're doing is cutting fruit.

02:42:43 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 1:

You didn't have 30 seconds

02:42:48 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 6:

to give me for the survey.

02:42:49 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, you're probably saying she's some stupid idiot who's wasting her time talking to me, but I'm just relaxing right now. My friend has a cat that talks.

02:42:59 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 6:

Your friend has a cat that talks?

02:43:01 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:43:02 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 6:

What does that have to do with the price of apples in China?

02:43:04 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 1:

What did any of your questions have to do with anything?

02:43:07 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 6:

Well, now you're being judgmental. I don't like it.

02:43:10 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 1:

Am I done?

02:43:11 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 6:

All right, you take care of yourself. I'll talk to you tomorrow.

02:43:13 - 02:43:18 | Speaker 1:

It would be great if you could hang up the phone before I do because...

02:43:18 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 5:

No, you hang up. You hang up first. No, you hang up.

02:43:22 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 1:

All right. Goodbye.

02:43:23 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 5:

No, you hang up.

02:43:28 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

I'm always amazed, Spike, because I'm sitting here with my mic off and stuff going, when are they going to hang up? When are they going to hang up? When are they going to hang up? Yeah. All right. Senseless survey.

02:43:38 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit, WSNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:44:02 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Hey, real quick, teachers, before you go anywhere, if you're a teacher, listen, because I need your help with something, okay? I don't want you to go anywhere because I need your participation on something here. It's Mojo in the morning. We've got a lot of teachers. We've got a lot of parents getting ready for school. So I wanted to tell this story, and I want to know if you have a story that relates to it to call us up. 844-665-6548. 844-MOJO-LIVE. so do you guys you know when you binge watch television you you know and you're watching a show especially a show that might be a little bit too much for like young kids do you do it before uh you know like do you do it like when the kids go to bed is that kind of your time and have you ever by the way just tried to put your kids to bed like really early like i i can remember like sneaking the clocks to make the kids go to bed at like seven o'clock at night because i wanted to you know

02:45:00 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 1:

get to the watching the show so friends of ours have two really young cute kids and um they are like they're to me the highest energy children i've ever seen especially our our little danny well these uh friends of ours are great parents and they put their kids to bed so that they could lay in bed and know not do what you think watch white lotus that's all they wanted to do was binge watch white lotus so yeah it's the best by the way right uh did you finally get through the whole thing yes yes i was just i was disappointed at the the ending i know that you loved it i thought

02:45:43 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 3:

it was so good it was unexpected and that's what i love so they're laying in bed and they're

02:45:49 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 1:

watching white lotus and they're probably about three episodes in you know uh to the show that evening when they heard a like little noise like a like a shocking noise and they get up and like what the heck is that and look and danny is laying on the floor in front of the television watching with them. He had been on the floor watching for a very long period of time.

02:46:20 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 3:

That is impressive. It's amazing, isn't it? Honestly, I mean...

02:46:25 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 1:

Give Danny applause on the fact that he was quiet. But that show,

02:46:29 - 02:46:30 | Speaker 3:

especially season two,

02:46:31 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 1:

not appropriate. So, yes. And Danny's mom was not happy. Danny, you got to go to bed. Well, Danny had a ton of questions to ask about White Lotus. And so Danny's mom, especially the season, and I won't give out what exactly happened, but in season two, there's a scene where there's a lot of people that end up getting shot, okay? That's all I'm going to say. I don't give the actual who the people are, right? But that's going to give you, did I give out too much information?

02:46:58 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that was kind of a lot.

02:47:00 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, well, let me just say this to you. Danny asked the question, why did they shoot all those people?

02:47:07 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh. He's going to go to school and talk all about it to his teachers.

02:47:12 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 1:

And his mom is like the sweetest lady ever, and she's got a real sweet voice. She goes, well, Danny, she didn't know them all or something like that. Like, she didn't know what to say. And then puts him to bed. Well, Danny goes to school the next day and tells his teacher everything that happened in White House. So guess who got a phone call from the teacher? Danny's mom got a phone call from uh from Danny's teacher at his school and the good craziest thing of this is that she now shares with Chelsea like Chelsea is kind of like her I I call it like it's your mentor parent because you know like we've had our kids years ago and it's kind of like when you have kids and they're your younger kids and you have an experience like that you don't know what to do usually what you do is you call somebody that has experienced that before and said what do i do is the teacher now think i'm you know this horrible parent whatever and chelsea's like ah it's okay don't worry about it you should have heard what happened when we were when our kids

02:48:08 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 2:

you know what i mean like go through the whole thing balls yeah right balls exactly right um

02:48:14 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 1:

so i want to ask this question just to make them feel better okay to make mom and dad feel better about this teachers call us up or parents you can call us up too and tell us what did your kids go to school and tell the class about the next day that probably is something that they shouldn't have said 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number because i will say this you got to make sure that your door is locked if you're watching white lotus that's all i'm gonna say make sure that your kids are locked in bed make sure you know what you should put on you should have you have motion detecting uh in your house put on a motion detector alarm system so that the alarm goes off if those little footsteps end up making their way down to your bedroom i can only imagine that there are some parents that have probably been caught baking cookies by their kids don't you think oh for sure it has to be for sure and you only hope that they don't go to school the next day and tell the teacher about that i saw daddy hugging mommy in a very interesting way rustling in their bed that's right meg's son has one of

02:49:26 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 2:

Those noise machines in his bedroom. And so that's all you hear coming out from the hallway. So we would never hear little footsteps.

02:49:34 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's great. Is it for that purpose?

02:49:36 - 02:49:37 | Speaker 2:

Well, no.

02:49:37 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, that's dangerous.

02:49:38 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 2:

To help him sleep, but it's bad. It's not great because someday we're going to be surprised. Oh, okay. Our bedroom door's open and there's, you know, noise out there. You don't hear somebody get out of bed.

02:49:49 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I thought that you would hear the noise machine playing. That's the forewarning if he opens up his door. What's going on, Mojo in the Morning Show? How you doing there, Ann?

02:50:00 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 4:

hi good morning so um we had a small tv in our kitchen and a little love seat and so my son curled up one night after his snack and his pjs and watched a movie and he fell asleep so the next morning he went to school and told the teacher i slept in the kitchen last night she's thinking did you not eat your broccoli like did you sleep with your head on the table what happened so she didn't call me but at parent teachers conferences she says now does he sleep in the kitchen a lot i'm like oh my god she told them that's so funny what's going on sydney how

02:50:35 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 1:

are you i'm good how are you good are you calling up because you're the parent or are you a teacher i am actually the kid oh really okay so you went to school and said something in class

02:50:47 - 02:51:02 | Speaker 5:

i did yeah so growing up in preschool we listened to musicals that was the go-to okay so in miss again we was there's a line that goes i'm surrounded by losers and whores yes

02:51:02 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 1:

that's all you need to get a call yeah yeah oh my god what's going on marie

02:51:11 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 6:

hi hi what did your daughter do so my daughter went camping with us and our friends and she told her teacher that she played beer darts with daddy and his friends

02:51:23 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 1:

and how did you find out about that did the teacher tell you at parent teacher conferences

02:51:30 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 6:

or call you um she kind of called and was like so this is what your child said and i was like of course she did because why would she you know not tell everybody that secret

02:51:38 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 1:

that's funny uh what's happening shannon hi hi um so my daughter was about four years old doing

02:51:49 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 7:

red rhythm week and we got a phone call from the teacher because they were talking about smoking cigarettes and things like that and my daughter told um her teacher and the guidance counselor and the officer that my husband and i do drugs because we um smoked so luckily we were um we had a good relationship with the teacher and she called us and she's like i just want you to know what sydney claire had said and yeah oh wow oh well yeah we were doing how long ago was that um so my daughter's 10 and she was probably six okay so so it was a uh it was years ago that

02:52:24 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 1:

that this happened because it's interesting i wonder nowadays with marijuana being legal in michigan i wonder how many kids go to school and talk or smell like weed oh i'm sure that's a big i i still want to hear some teachers i want to hear what's going on oh we got a teacher right

02:52:40 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 3:

here abby are you there hi yeah i'm a preschool teacher and we were learning about the letter p And I was like, does anyone have any letter P words? And one of those girls goes, porn. So parent-teacher conferences are going to be hilarious.

02:52:58 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 1:

They didn't cover that word in Sesame Street, did they?

02:53:04 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 4:

No, I mean, I know what dad does now.

02:53:07 - 02:53:19 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of that, Carla, hi. Hi. We're talking about when kids go to school and tell the school something that happened at home, and it's usually inappropriate. What happened?

02:53:20 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 5:

It was actually daycare, and at the time when, like, porn was still on, like, actual physical DVD, she took that to school and was showing it, or to daycare and showing it to everybody at daycare. Oh, my God.

02:53:33 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 1:

It was a little show and tell, huh?

02:53:35 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 5:

It was, and you can only imagine by the title when I walked into daycare to pick her up, and the lady said, well, can we have a talk? you know, we found this video and then says the name, and I'm like, oh, my God.

02:53:47 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 1:

What was the name, if you can say it? Black.

02:53:52 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 8:

Oh, no. Yep, yep, yep. Oh, goodness gracious.

02:53:57 - 02:54:09 | Speaker 5:

How did these teachers keep a straight face when they didn't hear the stuff? I'm pretty sure she wanted to laugh. She didn't even feel like it's not really that big of a deal, but just so you should know, you might have some parents calling you.

02:54:09 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 1:

katie your voice disguised how are you good morning how are you good you're a teacher

02:54:17 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

yes fifth grader um and do you remember when power first started up and those sex scenes in that show was like ridiculously crazy yeah so on a monday morning one of the students he's coming like yeah watch power and guess what and they was in the window and blah blah blah blah blah and i'm standing there like what the hell all in the parents like um yeah you might not want to let your child watch power because he just came to school and told the whole thing everything was just all about the sex

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if it was the same situation as what happened to our friends where the kid just snuck in and they didn't know that the kid was watching or was the kid watching?

02:55:07 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 5:

No, the mom, no, no. She wasn't surprised. Oh, no.

02:55:11 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's awful. Teacher Nicole, what's happening?

02:55:16 - 02:55:17 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:55:17 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 3:

02:55:20 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 3:

Good. What did a kid come into school the next day and talk about?

02:55:24 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 6:

So when I first started teaching out, I'm young. not really sure you know what we're doing when we first start teaching and right before conferences this little boy comes in and he kept falling asleep so i finally asked him i'm like buddy why are you so tired and he says my mom and dad are up all night jumping on the bed and i just

02:55:44 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 5:

can't sleep oh my god yeah oh no so how do you bring that up at conference did you bring it up

02:55:52 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 6:

02:57:46 - 02:57:54 | Speaker 3:

looking at some of the video right now of downtown los angeles uh and it's all flooded

02:57:54 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 4:

there's just texting with our friend jen one of our former interns and she's like i've never seen

02:57:59 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 3:

this much rain come down on my house in one day it's crazy there are massive amounts of rain storms that have been sweeping across the west affecting northern california now affecting you know uh southern california including some massive amounts of evacuation that needs to be done i saw this yesterday too ellen degeneres posted a video an extensive extensive flood on her property from the rainstorms. She lives now in Montecito, California, which is towards Santa Barbara. It's over in the same neighborhood as Harry and Megan. Yes, actually, she, Harry and Megan and Oprah are all neighbors in the same exact area.

02:58:45 - 02:58:51 | Speaker 4:

You can't hear the video. Montecito is under the food evacuation. The entire town is a five-year anniversary.

02:58:52 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 6:

That's right.

02:58:54 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 5:

But it's crazy to see.

02:58:58 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 3:

Now, they've had bad fires in the past, and they have had issues when it comes to that. Now they're getting all this rain, and they're saying that this rainy season is the biggest rainy season that they've ever had.

02:59:12 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 1:

Is it really easy to wash everything out because there's no trees or bushes or anything?

02:59:19 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 3:

They're worried about issues because everything's up on hills and mountains, and they're worried that some homes actually might get washed away.

02:59:28 - 02:59:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they have a big problem with mudslides because it is dry for long periods of time.

02:59:32 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Speaking of Harry and Meghan, you see the ratings that it got, that interview with Harry got on 60 Minutes? No. Harry's popularity, huge in the U.S., not so huge, though, in Europe. But he ended up getting 10.52 million viewers watching Anderson Cooper's 60 Minutes. This shows you, by the way, how big of an interview this was. earlier this morning, remember you talked about Jimmy Fallon?

03:00:00 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And how like a million and a half people like watch that show on a day or on a nightly basis. Ten point two million people watch the 60 minutes and to kind of give you like a little bit of, OK, how big is this? The preliminary numbers indicate a huge win for CBS in 60 minutes, which is up 16 percent from its season to date average. But it pales in comparison to the 10 or i'm sorry 17.1 million people who watched the live broadcast of prince harry and megan markle's tell all with oprah that aired in 2021 so it's down about seven or so million and they say when things are done as far as streamings are concerned that it will be uh not reaching that 17 million mark i talked about yeah how many people watch the netflix series uh You know what? I have not looked. Is it in the top most popular? I don't know.

03:00:57 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 2:

We don't ever get numbers from Netflix. They're super secretive about all that.

03:01:00 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 1:

But you can see it, though. You can see the... We'll show you which ones are most popular. Here you go. Let's see. Harry and Meghan, right? Harry and Meghan.

03:01:07 - 03:01:12 | Speaker 3:

You mean like when you log into your Netflix? Are you talking about that? What's trending? They say like top 10 trending?

03:01:12 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 1:

No, you can Google it. Harry and Meghan Netflix ratings. Let's see what we've got as far as streams. Because you know how you always know which shows have the highest amount of viewership and stuff? Let's see this. Let's see what we got. It's actually, it's not, Wednesday is still number one. So Wednesday actually is still the number one on Netflix. So good. With, oh my God, this is pretty crazy. For the week, 3.3 billion people watched Wednesday, followed by Firefly Lane, 1.4 billion, then followed by Harry and Meghan's, which is just about a billion people that have watched it. So it's still doing well. So it's number three.

03:02:06 - 03:02:08 | Speaker 3:

Is that people watching or is that ours?

03:02:08 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 1:

That's streams.

03:02:09 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 2:

Streams. Okay. Yeah. Because I know that the book obviously comes out today But the audible version of it Apparently in the US is having some problems And it hasn't been released yet And people are really mad

03:02:21 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 1:

You know why? Because he's reading it and not talking Remember I talked about this He sounds like he's reading and people are upset I'm joking Prince Harry's popularity though has sunk huge in Britain Which we knew that would happen While his popularity in the US is big Two thirds of Britons have a negative view of Harry Which is up 58% from May So this book is not doing him any good

03:02:49 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 3:

Anymore After watching the documentary When I hear something like that I'm like well says who

03:02:54 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Says who Why do you think that the younger people in Britain love him

03:02:59 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 2:

Um Yeah I mean The younger people in England in general Are not royalists As much as the older generations are And a lot of the royalists are the ones that are upset with him leaving. And a lot of the young people, I think, see a lot of generational trauma and understand why he's left.

03:03:18 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that Harry's popularity in the U.S. could be so great he could run for maybe senator? He can't do president because he's not born here.

03:03:24 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't think he wants to be in politics.

03:03:26 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine if all of a sudden he becomes a political figure here in our states?

03:03:31 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't think he wants to. I don't think he has any interest in that. Like, he's had a leadership role in an important family, and it didn't seem to do anything for him. And if anything, he sees all of the dark and negative sides of it.

03:03:42 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 3:

And I also kind of think that they're going to share everything that they've been wanting to share. They're going to get it all out. And then I think they'll probably be pretty quiet.

03:03:51 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 1:

I would like to see him on a masked singer. Yes, that would be the greatest. The masked singer would be perfect for him. This story is wild. Did you hear about the Canadian reporter who suffered a medical emergency in the middle of her report that was airing live on television? Jessica Robb has now become one of the long list of reporters that we have seen that has had an issue to the point that it looked like she was having a stroke on television.

03:04:18 - 03:04:21 | Speaker 2:

All right. So, Jessica, how do families of the victims feel about this progress?

03:04:22 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, people we spoke with say they were happy that something is being done. But this is something that they've been asking for since day one. So for them, this is about a thousand days too late. Now, Nariman, I'm looking at after the day, families are pushing feds to, pushing the feds to, sorry, Nariman, I'm not feeling very well right now and I'm about to.

03:04:53 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, we'll come back to me right now and we'll make sure that, Jessica, you are doing okay.

03:05:00 - 03:05:08 | Speaker 6:

And we will give you guys an update a little bit later to make sure that she is doing all right. She is not alone. She is with Photog Operators.

03:05:09 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 2:

The reporter released a statement saying that on Sunday night, a very personal and vulnerable moment unfolded as I was reporting live on the air. Since then, it has been shared thousands of times along with baseless theories around this to everyone who has reached out with their supportive messages of well wishes. Thank you very much. It's been overwhelming. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. She added that while I will not share my private medical information, I can say that there is no cause for concern and that my understanding of my own medical background provides a reasonable explanation of what happened. I can, however, confirm that the situation in no way is related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Remember the reporter that was out in front of the Grammys that was reporting? And remember, she had a stroke. She actually suffered from actually what's called a migraine stroke, which, by the way, this is really common for, they say, women more so than men, where you will suffer from a migraine that will cause you to have a stroke.

03:06:10 - 03:06:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, a very, very heavy, heavy rotation tonight. We had a very Darius, Darius, but let's go to Tara's English for the bit. They had the pet.

03:06:20 - 03:06:26 | Speaker 1:

Gosh, that's so, so scary. Gosh, scary how much it sounds like us in our opening break every morning before coffee. Kind of right.

03:06:27 - 03:07:15 | Speaker 2:

And this story has grown some views online. It's become very big as far as trending. You always hear these stories all the time about, you know, the missing wife or the missing husband and who is it that killed them. Well, there's a story out of Massachusetts about a woman who is missing. She's been missing for a while. They don't know where she's at. Her husband is this guy that's been under fire for selling fake Andy Warhol paintings on eBay. And I guess is right now in some legal hot water. She turned up missing. She was supposed to go on a trip to Washington, D.C. for work. Never ended up getting on the flight. And the cops are now saying that the husband is the prime suspect after they found a bloody hatchet at their house.

03:07:16 - 03:07:18 | Speaker 3:

And a very interesting Google search.

03:07:18 - 03:07:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Here's a report from ABC.

03:07:22 - 03:07:36 | Speaker 1:

Overnight, police searched this trash transfer station in connection to the disappearance of Massachusetts' mother, Anna Walsh. ABC affiliate WCVB was there as investigators meticulously combed through garbage in hazmat suits.

03:07:36 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 3:

Bail is set at $500,000 cash.

03:07:39 - 03:07:49 | Speaker 1:

And now, shocking new details unveiled in the investigation. At her husband Brian's first court appearance, prosecutors saying they found a bloody knife inside the couple's home.

03:07:49 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 6:

Crime scene services recovered and found blood in the basement area, in a section of the basement. There was also a knife that was found. On the knife, there was also blood, and part of the knife was damaged.

03:08:02 - 03:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Ana is a 39-year-old mother of three. She was last seen in the early hours of January 1st and supposed to catch a flight for work later that day. Prosecutors say Brian told police Ana took a ride share to the airport at 6 a.m., But investigators believe she never took that ride and never boarded a flight. This weekend, authorities arresting Brian at the couple's home. He was later seen here smiling on his way to his arraignment. He's charged with misleading the investigation and pleaded not guilty.

03:08:32 - 03:08:42 | Speaker 5:

Mr. Walsh has given several interviews. We have consented to searches of his home. He looks guilty to me. We have consented to searches of his cell phone.

03:08:42 - 03:09:05 | Speaker 1:

But prosecutors say he's lied to authorities. In 2021, Walsh was convicted of art fraud for selling fake copies of Andy Warhol paintings on eBay. He's been on house arrest awaiting sentencing. Prosecutors say he told police the day after his wife was last seen, he only left the house to take his son for ice cream. They say they have proof he also went to Home Depot.

03:09:06 - 03:09:21 | Speaker 6:

He's on surveillance at that time, purchasing about $450 worth of cleaning supplies. Oh, God. Oh, boy. Tops, T-backs, drop plots, as well as various kinds of tape.

03:09:22 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Investigators say Ana's phone pinged near the couple's house January 1st and January 2nd, but it hasn't pinged since. Monday night crime scene tape was seen around a dumpster at the apartment complex where Brian Walsh's mother lives.

03:09:36 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 4:

Typically, you arrest somebody on a lesser charge just to get them off the street. then you start questioning them about what really happened to his wife.

03:09:46 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Anna's friend Alyssa Kirby says she's devastated by her disappearance.

03:09:50 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 3:

She is a formidable, competent woman and really just a zest for life. Like everyone who meets her, who loves her.

03:09:57 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Case closed. I'm sorry. Put us on the jury. We'll figure this out.

03:10:00 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 6:

thing out. He also had a very suspicious Google search which tell me that this is not bad. In the Google search, he searched how to hide a body.

03:10:12 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh. 115 pound women's body.

03:10:16 - 03:10:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, how to hide it. Okay. I mean, how specific? I don't know. I need to hear more.

03:10:24 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 9:

Casey Anthony had all those weird Googles and she still got away with it. Very true point.

03:10:30 - 03:10:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, kind of interesting. So that story is one that you'll probably see more of. I need Keith Morrison doing the story instead of the reporter from ABC. Oh, great. And then they looked at their Google search, you know what I mean, like that? I mean, it's like, I like to just hear him say Google search. You know, that would be fun.

03:10:46 - 03:10:48 | Speaker 4:

Sucked in as soon as I start to hear him talk.

03:10:48 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, when they do, Dateline NBC, because I watched, what is the channel that has all the Dateline episodes? If they do, what's the guy's name? Chris Murphy or whatever. They do like one of the other guys.

03:11:01 - 03:11:02 | Speaker 8:

I know. I'm like, I don't watch it. Same.

03:11:03 - 03:11:36 | Speaker 6:

I'll be back in an hour. I'll wait to see if Keith Morrison has a story later. Have a great day, guys. More Mojo podcasts coming up today. We have that for you. That's our after show podcast.
