Hey, before we go any further, real quick, ladies and gentlemen, the president of the United States would like to sing Shannon a pre-birthday happy birthday, everybody.

00:04:16 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Alan, happy birthday to you. You guys, that needs to be played for every birthday.

00:04:32 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 5:

I think so. Forever and ever. I think that you got it right there.

00:04:36 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, we use it for any birthday because you don't know what name to say.

00:04:39 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we're the, hey, Adam. Well, happy pre-birthday, Shannon. Thank you. Shannon's birthday is tomorrow, and if you wonder why I'm saying happy pre-birthdays, that she's going to be off tomorrow through the weekend to celebrate her birthday. And you will not be here for the big party that we're still throwing for you tomorrow.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 3:

That makes me so happy.

00:05:01 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we throw it on your birthday, so it's happening tomorrow.

00:05:04 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 3:

You know, I forgot to bring in a birthday treat, and I had planned on getting cupcakes last night, and that just didn't happen.

00:05:10 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:05:10 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 3:

So I sent you guys a text message this morning and said, everybody send me their Starbucks order. I'm going to order and buy everybody Starbucks so I don't have to hear you guys gripe about how I didn't bring in birthday treats. Oh, come on. And then nobody wanted Starbucks.

00:05:24 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:05:24 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 3:

We're not doing birthday treats.

00:05:26 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

You jerks. Yeah. Mike ruined it for all of us.

00:05:29 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 3:

We're not doing birthday treats. I was so stressed when I woke up this morning. I'm like, crap.

00:05:33 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, you should have been because I was really looking forward to Christina's cake and bakery pastries. The best cookies. Oh, my gosh. I was like, I know she's going up to Shelby Township for the treats.

00:05:42 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you my birthday fiasco with you today? So I got you a birthday card.

00:05:49 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 3:

Is this from you?

00:05:50 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 1:

I picked out a card, yes. You can read it later if you'd like, but it's insulting. like every birthday card for anybody anybody that turns 40 50 60 70 80 or 90 right they're insulting cards that come out it's nothing nothing about how great it is to turn the age that you are turning but it's all the insults but I do have to tell you that I didn't gather a gift so I figured I would just go I would just go to my area of my house where I have bottles of booze or wine that have been given to me by other people. Yeah. And can I go on record to ask people this? Do not give a bottle of booze to a person for a birthday and take a Sharpie marker to write on it.

00:06:34 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 3:

I do that.

00:06:35 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 1:

Because.

00:06:36 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 3:

I do that.

00:06:37 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, I think I almost gave you back the bottle of wine that you gave me. It's in my car right now. Honestly. I grabbed it in the dark.

00:06:44 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

I'll take it.

00:06:45 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 1:

Well, let me just tell you this. Can somebody run down? Reese, could you real quick run down? I got you. All right. It will be fast.

00:06:52 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

Is it really? Because I always take a silver or a gold Sharpie. Yeah. And I write.

00:06:56 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Hold on. Is it? Hold on, Reese. Run down real quick. I would die.

00:07:01 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

That would be so funny. I always do that because I like people. It's in. I always like to tell somebody if they gave me a bottle. Like, Spike, you always give me a bottle of wine. I always like to tell you if I'm drinking it.

00:07:09 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 1:

It's in the passenger side cup holders. So go on the passenger side and you'll see it. The cup holders grab it and run right up. See how fast you can go. Ready? Go. Come on.

00:07:16 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 3:

This is how I get my kids to do stuff for me around my house. I'll time you.

00:07:20 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 1:

And then they always wanted to race.

00:07:22 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

It's a race.

00:07:23 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 1:

So I grabbed it in the dark. This is no lie. I grabbed it in the dark. All right. I'm like, oh, this seems like a nice bottle. Grab it in the dark. Grab out. Get in the car. Come into the parking lot where it's now lit because we have nice lights in our parking lot. Thank you, Colleen, our boss. She actually lit up the parking lot for us. and I look at the bottle of wine, it says 52 on the side of the thing, which is what I just turned. Yeah. And you may be right. It may be, quite possibly, the bottle of wine that you gave me because it was a fancy 52 on the side. So when you get mad at me for the fact that I re-gifted gifts that you've given to me, like that Lululemon, I almost re-gifted to you the gift that I got from you.

00:08:11 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, if it comes back up here, I'm taking it.

00:08:12 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, booze is the one re-gift I will happily accept.

00:08:15 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 1:

Can we do this? Can we open it during the show and have a glass of wine during the show? We've never drank wine during the show. We have forever. All right, here he comes. Here he comes. You never have.

00:08:25 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm pretty sure Shannon has it. I could not. Here, give it to Shannon right there.

00:08:28 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, is it? It is. Wait, look at the 52.

00:08:31 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, that's definitely her writing. 52!

00:08:38 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 1:

I almost re-gifted you the bottle of wine. of wine that you gave me. So, happy 40th birthday, Shannon. Hold on, pass that back over to me.

00:08:49 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Happy 52nd.

00:08:50 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Hold on.

00:08:55 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he's gonna write on it.

00:08:56 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm gonna, oh, hold on, 40, I'm doin' 40. I just made it 40 for you over there, so.

00:09:03 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, thank you. No, don't throw it, don't throw it.

00:09:05 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

Happy birthday, no.

00:09:06 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Just keep it over there, I'll come get it.

00:09:07 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

I'll leave it, I'll send it over to you.

00:09:09 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay, thank you. Oh, God, that's a great bottle of wine. I mean, it is you're missing out.

00:09:15 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Wait till Megan's birthday when I re-gift her that floating in the air gift card that she gave me. How many years ago did I get that for you? It was pre-COVID, I think. By the way, that place I found out is still open. I drove by it the other day, so thank God it's still there.

00:09:33 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 3:

Well, then I want it back. There should be an expiration limit on gifts, and if you don't use it by X amount of date, I get it back.

00:09:40 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

You may lose out on it, because in a few weeks here, I might give it to Mike. So, Mike, get ready for that birthday. Speaking of birthdays, so I've got to wish a happy birthday to, it sounds like a fake name, John Smith. That really is his name. John is a great guy. He's a great friend of Chelsea and our family.

00:10:00 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 2:

and he celebrated a big birthday and we ended up getting a phone call from Brittany, his wife, saying, hey, are you guys out and about? And we're like, yeah, we're out and about. And Chelsea and I were in the car together and she goes, could you do me a favor? She goes, I put a cake on hold and I need somebody to just go pick it up. I just, she's got her, you know, all the stuff. She's making them like a lasagna for dinner and all this stuff. So we go to pick up the cake. And when we got there, it said happy birthday on it, But it didn't say happy birthday, John.

00:10:30 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:10:31 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

So we took the liberties, and I actually threw this in our show prep thing. I'll put it in the group chat. I took the liberties, and actually it was Chelsea's idea, so this is all on her if John's upset, to change it to one of our favorite things that we like to say to John, which is kind of out of love. And it says, happy birthday, you big dick.

00:10:58 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 4:

And they did it for you.

00:11:00 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 2:

And they did it for us. Really? Which is honestly amazing because I said to her, I go, there is no way they're going to do happy birthday, you big dick, on there.

00:11:07 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

I've had a lot of things rejected that I've asked them to put on cakes before.

00:11:11 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that is so good.

00:11:12 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So they put it on the cake. And the funny reason why we laugh and joke about this is because we have said it so many times in front of little Brooke, who's like the cutest kid in the world, that Brooke has repeated, you big dick, before. And a matter of fact, hold on, let me see if I can find this real quick. I'll find the audio of this. Because John got surprised by the little present that we gave. But also, Brooke got surprised and actually said the actual saying, which probably is not good.

00:11:48 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 4:

It's always funnier when a little one is saying that.

00:11:50 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 2:

I just hope she doesn't say it. This is to be honest with you. I hope she doesn't ever say it in front of her teacher.

00:11:58 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 4:

Or at a birthday party for a friend.

00:12:00 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 2:

Or grandparents. That would be the worst one.

00:12:01 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 4:

What are you, big dick?

00:12:05 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 2:

Not a great thing.

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 1:

What are you, big dick?

00:12:10 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 4:

It's so funny you say that because I actually just pre-ordered for Valentine's Day. Wes and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. I always maintain it's a holiday for the kids. but um detroit cookie company and mike i know you love to try cookie company you can order cookie cakes right so i pre-ordered one for valentine's day because i'm actually having a little surgery on valentine's day so i'm not gonna i'm gonna be like out of commission but um i ordered one for west that says i love your dick and they did it i love that wow your dick wow wait a second You're going to open it up and be like, what?

00:12:48 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 2:

That's like, by the way, that would be the greatest thing any woman could ever say to their man, right?

00:12:53 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 1:

But imagine if they mix up the delivery boxes, it goes to the wrong place.

00:12:59 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning, Tina. Oh, it's solo Tina. What's going on, Tina? We met Tina during COVID and we kept her company while she was hanging across the border in Canada. And what did you call in for?

00:13:11 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, good morning, everyone, but especially happy birthday, Shannon. Thank you, Dina.

00:13:17 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

Or, as President Biden says, I don't know.

00:13:23 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 3:

And, Shannon, I just have to tell you, I have always admired you. I love you on the show. I love all of you, but I wanted to – you're very hard on yourself sometimes. And I yell at the radio, I'm like, Shannon, be kind to yourself, because you are so kind, you are genuine, you are face-filled, you are funny, and you are a great mama. So be kind to yourself and happy, happy birthday.

00:13:50 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 2:

Wow, those are kind words. That's very nice. Would you like to drink from our bottle of wine that we have here, the 5240 wine? That's what that wine is going to be called forever.

00:14:01 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. That means a lot to me. Tina's the best. We'll drink staple syrup.

00:14:07 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, maple syrup. Love you, Tina. Take care of yourself.

00:14:10 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Tina. Love you, Tina. Love you, everyone. Bye, guys.

00:14:13 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 2:

Bye. The funny thing about regifting and doing that is sometimes when you do the regifting, and it's usually like at Christmas time, you'll always end up getting a bunch of stuff, and then you'll go, oh, God, I got to give somebody something. And honestly, I think booze or wine or something is like the most regifted thing.

00:14:30 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, for sure.

00:14:31 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 2:

You have to look in those little bags that you hold them in, because I have done it before where I've gone to a friend's house late and I'm like, oh, God, we've got to grab something. Chels, hold on. We'll grab something and put it in there. And people will leave like a note at the bottom or put anything.

00:14:45 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, or like a gift card. Sometimes you throw a gift card in there.

00:14:48 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, first off, if it's a gift card, I'd be pissed. That was not meant to go to them. I wanted that gift card for me. But it's the note, too. And then the other one, too, is how on the gift card.

00:15:00 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 5:

gift bags, they have like the little card almost attached. Yes. And people will fill them out. And sometimes you don't even look that they actually filled out those cards. Yeah, don't fill out

00:15:08 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 3:

those cards. Let everybody recycle those bags

00:15:10 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 5:

for a few years. Yeah. And please don't write on the bottles of wine, Shannon. Derek, what's going on? Morning. Morning. What's up? You want to say something to Shannon? Yeah.

00:15:22 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 7:

Well, more to Mike and Shannon. How is it Shannon gets a party and she's not even there and Mike can't even get one? Well, no.

00:15:28 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 5:

No, we're not having a party. We're Sam's party. Is there wine? Yeah. Okay. Are we celebrating?

00:15:34 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 1:

That's just a normal Wednesday. Yes. On this show.

00:15:37 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 4:

Wine Wednesday. Yeah.

00:15:39 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 5:

Mike's problem with the birthday thing is that every time that it's his birthday, we're always on vacay that time.

00:15:44 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:15:45 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 5:

So it kind of screws it all up. Right. His problem is not us. It was his parents having him at that time. You should have moved to a non-off week, Mike. I'll talk to my mom about that If she would have held off For like one more week Or had the baby a little week earlier Remember this with your new baby

00:16:05 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 7:

Maybe you just changed your vacation

00:16:06 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, thanks for the call

00:16:09 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 6:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day We have to go back in time Where we give you a bunch of events And you tell us what year it happened

00:16:19 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 5:

Do you guys remember the Drake In Your Feelings song? Well, remember the In Your Feelings challenge that went on with people doing it all over, including Will Smith, who did it on a bridge in Budapest.

00:16:30 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 2:

All this for y'all. See, this is social media love right here. This is social media stupidity.

00:16:38 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 5:

It was also the year that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified before Congress about data use and security of Facebook.

00:16:46 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 3:

It's pretty much impossible, I believe, to start a company in your dorm room and then grow it to be at the scale that we're at now without making some mistakes.

00:16:54 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 5:

And Post Malone had the big song on radio. What year was this? We'll set you up with some tickets right now. We got some SmackDown tickets.

00:17:04 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 6:

What year was it? Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:17:22 - 00:17:40 | Speaker 5:

It was the year that the Drake In My Feelings Challenge went viral with so many different celebrities, including Will Smith, doing it. It was also the year that CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, had to testify before Congress about the data breaches.

00:17:40 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 3:

Pretty much impossible, I believe, to start a company in your dorm room and then grow it to be at the scale that we're at now without making some mistakes.

00:17:47 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 5:

And Better Now from Post Malone was the big song. What year was that, Tyler? Oh, that was 2018. It was. Congratulations. Congratulations. What gave it away for you?

00:18:02 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 4:

The Post Malone one. My girlfriend would kill me if I got it wrong.

00:18:05 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 5:

Why? Was that your song?

00:18:08 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

No, it's that we've been to all of his concerts in Detroit. She's been a fan, like, forever.

00:18:13 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay, cool. Well, congratulations. You guys are now going to be going to SmackDown together. WWE SmackDown happening at Little Caesars this week. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com. Have a great time.

00:18:24 - 00:18:25 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. Thank you. Happy birthday, Shannon.

00:18:25 - 00:18:26 | Unknown:

Thank you.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s.

00:18:53 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon. Let's see if your dirties sound any different today than they will when you come back from your little time off. Because this is your last dirties in your 30s. How do you like that?

00:19:06 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Okay, so reality stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley have officially started to serve their respective prison sentences. They turned themselves in yesterday. Todd reported to FPC Pensacola in Florida. It is a minimum security prison. He'll be getting cozy there for the next 12 years. Meanwhile, Julie reported to a different federal prison in Lexington, Kentucky, I believe is where she is. They are serving time for their convictions in their bank fraud and tax evasion case. They filed motions asking for bail pending an appeal. The judge denied that request last week. So now they started their prison sentences as planned. Jennifer Lopez says she was supposed to kiss Madonna at the 2003 MTV VMAs. Do you guys remember that moment? Yeah. Ended up being Madonna, Britney, and Christina Aguilera, although the camera cut away before we could see the Christina kiss. I was filming a movie in Canada, and we had met me, her, and Britney to do it at her home, and then I just couldn't get off the film, and so we couldn't do it, and so, you know, then they got Christina Aguilera, I think, to do it, and I didn't wind up doing it. We had talked about it. I love Madonna. I'm a huge fan. I always have been.

00:20:22 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 8:

Speaking of Madonna, if you missed the big announcement yesterday at the end of the show, She's going on a new tour through North America and Europe this coming summer. She made that tour announcement by releasing a video of herself playing a little game of truth and dare with some of her celebrity friends, including Jack Black, Lil Wayne, and Amy Schumer.

00:20:44 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Madonna. Yeah? I dare you to do a world tour and play your greatest hits. Four decades? 40 years? Yes. As in all those songs? Yeah. We're talking like a virgin. We're talking tropical on the island.

00:21:03 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 7:

All of nature, wild and green. This is where I love to be. La isla bonita. Wait, hold up. You think people would come to that show?

00:21:13 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 1:

I'll be there.

00:21:14 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 7:

Well, I'll be there.

00:21:16 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 1:

You there? Yeah, I'm there. There? Okay, so the answer is... Yeah.

00:21:22 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 8:

Tickets go on sale starting this Friday. And another great moment from President Joe Biden to play for you. This time, he mispronounced his own vice president's name during a White House celebration for the Golden State Warriors yesterday.

00:21:37 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 2:

There's several other members of the California delegation here, also here, along with several city and state leaders. But as Kamala said, we're all closely monitoring the storms, the floods, the land size.

00:21:48 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 8:

Just had that Michigan accent in there, Kamala, instead of Kamala.

00:21:52 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 4:

Remember when, you know, it's funny that that was in the beginning considered that you were being very disrespectful, that you were mispronouncing it because a lot of people didn't know or a lot of people were doing it purposely.

00:22:01 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 7:

She made a video of how to pronounce her name because he was trying to teach people how to pronounce her name.

00:22:06 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 4:

And there were a lot of Republicans that were constantly mispronouncing it. So she was pointing out that they were doing it purposely.

00:22:13 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 8:

But yeah. Yeah. For all of today's dirty, check out the dirty page on the morning. Dot com.

Coming up in moments from now, it's Smarter Than Shannon. Actually, it's the 5 at 6.55, but we used to call it Smarter Than Shannon, and she took on listeners every morning, and it got really boring when Shannon was like, I think the final record was like 3,000 and something to like 3 or something. I don't know. That's really nice.

00:22:43 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 7:

There were a lot more losses.

00:22:45 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 4:

I know there was a ton. Let's put it this way. There was thousands compared to, like, single or maybe just low double digits. So we're going to see how you do against Ethan today. Will Ethan be, like, the greatest champion of all time? Find out in moments.

00:22:58 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 6:

You guys, you guys, you guys, great news. It's time for an official government survey. And when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s**t.

00:23:07 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 4:

This country is going to s**t.

00:23:09 - 00:23:10 | Speaker 2:

You got it on Mojo.

00:23:11 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 6:

It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey.

00:23:16 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Hi, this is Bob Dabalina from the U.S. Senseless Bureau, and you left a few answers blank in the last survey that we mailed to your home. We were just wondering if we could follow up. It should take about 30 seconds. Can I just ask how many people currently reside in your home? Two. On a scale of 99 to 100, how awful is your job?

00:23:37 - 00:23:40 | Speaker 2:

All right, maybe five.

00:23:40 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 3:

Five on a scale of 99 to 100. And what's the most Midwest way to say goodbye? Watch for deer or text me when you get there?

00:23:50 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 2:

Text me when you get there?

00:23:52 - 00:24:38 | Speaker 3:

Would you buy a scented candle that smells like the Detroit Lions locker room? Are we almost done with these questions? Well, the season's done, that's for sure. We can move on to the next question if it hurts too much. And what's the story with Prince Harry? You buying it? why am i getting asked all these questions well it's just for the u.s uh senseless bureau uh on a typical day how many drinks have you had before noon who has a drink before noon what are you doing that dry january thing or are you just you're just judging me okay all right next question from the drunk with the government telemarketing job who lives with his mom over here uh i was wondering Lauren, why isn't the word phonetic spelled like it sounds?

00:24:42 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 3:

And are ducks just four-by-four all-wheel-drive chickens?

00:24:46 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 2:

I'm just wondering what these questions are for.

00:24:49 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 3:

We're down to the last two questions here. Would you visit a smaller Mount Rushmore that featured the faces of the Kardashians?

00:24:56 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 2:

I don't think I would.

00:24:57 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

No, you wouldn't visit Mount Kardashmore?

00:25:00 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 2:

You can grip it. You can go down and kiss it. Do you think? Oh.

00:25:35 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I've always wanted to know the answers to those questions, too. It's Mojo in the Morning's Senseless Survey.

00:25:43 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 1:

I think actually the last question is going to make you go down. Question number one.

We'll give it to her. Three to three. Because we want suspense. Even though Ethan said Avatar, the way of the water. He knew the whole thing. Ethan, if you guys tie, I'll take it away from her. Question number four.

00:30:53 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, you gave him this one, kind of.

00:30:54 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 2:

00:35:59 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 4:

She's pretty gullible, I'd say. You know, I'm always pranking her or, you know, joking around with her. So I think this will be, I think she'll stay on the phone.

00:36:08 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 1:

I love it. And a little bit of a back story here. You are currently in some trouble for unpaid parking tickets.

00:36:15 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I am.

00:36:17 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 1:

00:36:20 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. You can actually have a warrant out for your arrest for unpaid parking tickets? Oh, yeah.

00:36:25 - 00:36:47 | Speaker 4:

Yep, I paid for the license plate to have the parking ticket or the parking pass on it, and supposedly it does work at the dog beach down in Muskegon, and I take my daughter and my dog out there all the time, and I come back to my truck, and I have like six parking tickets every time that I live. So, yeah.

00:36:47 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, we're going to make your mom think that you're in even more trouble. You ready?

00:42:23 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations, Mom.

00:42:25 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 3:

00:42:41 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:44 - 00:42:44 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:42:45 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mama. You also think you're smarter than the idiots who fall for scams. Until it happens to you. Another world-famous phone scam happens at 7.50. I'm Mojo in the Morning.

00:43:01 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. we are commercial free so thanks for listening to the show you are done with commercials here for a little bit Mojo in the morning on great stations like 104.5 SNX 92.5 KISS FM and channel 955 so Spike it would be like bad karma if you did this you would get it you would get bad inspiration if you did something like you were thinking about doing?

00:43:33 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I would like to ask people what their inspirational sign says. And if you're saying, what are you talking about, your inspirational sign? I walked into my friend's house yesterday, and I'd never been in their kitchen before. I was picking up my garage clicker at my friend's house. When I was out of town, they had my garage clicker. They had about 15 or 20 of those modern, rustic wood signs with the inspirational words that you buy from, like, Michael's or HomeGoods. Yes. so on every wall in their house they had these signs that were like this is a home of love and live laugh love love pray live eat pray whatever i mean they had a bunch of these signs all over the place i think you're supposed to buy like maybe one of those or two of those maybe as a little accent for decoration but they had 20 of them oh in over the table come gather at our table in fancy white cursive letters. Eat, drink, and be thankful. And then over the sink, life is short, dance in the kitchen. Then as you walk in the hall to the kitchen, enjoy the journey. And I'm like, where? From the front door to the kitchen? Life happens. Coffee helps is a little wood block on their countertop. And then over the other wall in their kitchen table, they had some family photos, which were very cute, little black and white photos. And then in the center, three big wooden letters that said eat e-a-t and i'm like why do

00:45:00 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 3:

people have these like what are they who are these signs talking to are they reminding themselves to

00:45:04 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 5:

eat so we have my wife has done the same thing but it's like a hallway specifically when you walk down the stairs in our house it's like a hallway filled and it's just in that spot and it's a bunch of these so what i'll do sometimes is i'll start having conversations with her just using those

00:45:21 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 3:

signs that's great see how long it takes her to catch on i have no idea why we have all of those

00:45:27 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea what the purpose is, but she loves them.

00:45:29 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 2:

She wants you to walk out with a mantra in your head.

00:45:31 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 3:

I guess, yeah. You know what would be funny? It's just people don't know how to fill the blank walls.

00:45:34 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 4:

It'd be funny if one of their kids, if they have children, or if they had video, could film their yelling arguments with each other as a family with those in the background.

00:45:47 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 3:

It's like, I already know you like wine, or that life is better at the lake. You don't need a bunch of store-bought signs to put those all over.

00:45:55 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 2:

I mean, there are two whole aisles at home goods of those.

00:45:58 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think to each his own, you know what I mean? Like, you decorate it to decorate it, you fill it up and stuff like that. Like, I was, we were having a conversation, like, Chelsea and I are not painting people or, you know, we're not, like, our stuff that we have, like, Chelsea has the taste. I don't hang anything. If it was up to me, I would have posters of Michael Jordan dunking, you know. You know, right, Mike? Right. I mean, you know what I mean? Like, if it was up to us to decorate our houses, and I actually, like, my man cave has a Tiger Woods, you know picture hanging up in the thing but if it was up to me it would be like all sports pictures where i'm not a very decorative type of a person but they had a little sign that said

00:46:34 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 3:

happiness is homemade but they didn't make the sign it was bought at home goods so i was like why didn't you make the sign right um they have these places now where you can go make these signs it's the new thing because all the women have they everybody's done painting with a twist like 10 times where you drink wine and make a horrible painting that you're never gonna do anything with now they're doing it where you make a one of these little signs so in our workshop i

00:46:59 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 2:

know there are a few in in our listening area i have to shout out the one in ferndale because my friend katie owns it but they're actually really fun are they they are super fun to go like get a bunch of girlfriends together let's do it as a morning show and then we can decorate the new

00:47:10 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 3:

seriously super fun well what would mojo's inspirational sign say because i want to make one for myself but i want to make something you can't buy in a store like say like i'm a grower Not a shower Stop eating Mine would be Stop eating

00:47:22 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 4:

It would be It would be like Put that on the refrigerator If you got one of those Inspirational signs Why am I voice disguising you Monica

00:47:32 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god What is that Hold on Sounds like you're Double voice disguised Hang on a second Are you there

00:47:39 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 4:

Hold on I gotta restart

00:47:42 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 3:

Somebody Yeah

00:47:43 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 4:

Who's messing That's my favorite thing That's ever happened Wait Who's messing with my Harmonizer here Sounds like a mouse. I know. That was a little crazy. I don't know if that maybe is a... Hang on, Monica. We want to make sure we get it right before you talk. Yeah, don't say a word. I'll tell you when you can talk, okay?

00:47:59 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that was wild.

00:48:00 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 4:

It's resetting. It's testing. It's going through its initiating process.

00:48:04 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 5:

It's like when the TikTok filters don't work right. You're trying to watch the video, and you're like, I can't. All I can think about is the voice. Go ahead, Monica.

00:48:09 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 3:

Enjoy the journey, as the sign would say.

00:48:13 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 5:

Monica?

00:48:13 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it is broken.

00:48:14 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 4:

that's monica's that's monica's phone hold on stand there for a second stay there hang on uh jesse i know you don't want voices guys but can you just talk for a second for me

00:48:25 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 3:

no no it is us yeah hang on jesse are you there jesse did someone change the setting

00:48:33 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 4:

wait wait now go back to jesse's voice and let's see what he sounds like without the or she or he all right hold on a second jesse you there i am here okay perfect okay somebody changed my setting yeah what the heck who the f did my setting maybe the cleaning person pushed too too hard on the buttons i don't know usually when you turn it off and reset it yeah it's fine

00:49:01 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

jesse do you do you have these signs in your house jesse so my husband and i have a very small house

00:49:07 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

So right now we just have one that we got from our wedding. And I told him, I said, okay, next house that we get, I'm going to decorate. And he's like, that's all you. And so I'm like, okay, I'm going to have all of the signs in the house. Like all the walls are going to be full of signs. So he gave me permission, but he's going to be very inspired. Absolutely. You know, that's my goal. That's my job as his wife.

00:49:35 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 3:

I think you just have to limit it to three signs, maybe. Maybe not 15 or 20 like my friend had.

00:49:41 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a bit excessive. I will say that.

00:49:44 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 5:

You can't live, laugh, and love with three signs.

00:49:46 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I would have never given them my garage clicker because I would have realized they might have broken in and put them all over my house, too. All right, Monique, you back?

00:49:54 - 00:49:54 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:49:55 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 4:

There you are. Can you understand it or no?

00:49:57 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it sounds better. Yeah.

00:49:59 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Morgan.

00:50:00 - 00:50:01 | Unknown:

Hi, Spike.

00:50:01 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Hi, Shannon. Hi. Sounds like she's already got a high-pitched voice.

00:50:07 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Can you real quick say something for me instead of a name? Say the Lollipop Guild, the Lollipop Guild. Go ahead.

00:50:15 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 7:

We represent the Lollipop Guild.

00:50:19 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 6:

You'll hear this later in the podcast and realize you sound like a munchkin.

00:50:23 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 2:

Monique, I have to use you on voice disguise because there's something wrong with the voice disguiser machine. Are you okay with that?

00:50:28 - 00:50:29 | Unknown:

Okay, sure.

00:50:29 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 2:

All right, I'm going to go un-voice this guy on this one.

00:50:31 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 6:

She's just shy, that's all.

00:50:32 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 2:

Monique?

00:50:33 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:50:34 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:50:35 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 5:

That's what it sounds like.

00:50:37 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 2:

All right, Monique, what were your comments you were going to make on this?

00:50:40 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 5:

My comment was that my counselor told me to do the same thing. Keep words of praise, words of affirmation all around your house, beautiful ideas, things that when you're down, you can look over and say, yeah, live, laugh, love. So it's going to keep you in half.

00:51:01 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:51:02 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I do this. I write on my bathroom mirror or I put little post-its with stuff I hear on my bathroom mirror. I really, really believe that.

00:51:09 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest with you, though? If that's all your counselor said, fire your counselor. And hang up in the counselor's office. You're fired.

00:51:17 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 5:

A little more love. Yeah.

00:51:19 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 2:

I love when you hear that. People will go, yeah, my therapist told me this. And I'm going, wait a second. Your therapist said that the only way you're going to actually have a good day is by looking at a sign that says in your kitchen. I get what she's saying.

00:51:30 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 6:

I think it's nice. But like Shannon said, when you write it out yourself, it has a little more intention because you pick something personal to you. When you're in Michael's aisle five and you're just looking for something to fill the space.

00:51:39 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, and I constantly am changing, like, you know, throwing the post-its away and putting new ones up.

00:51:43 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 2:

What happens if you buy too many at Michael's and now you're financially in the hole and now you've got the stress of finance?

00:51:48 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 1:

And now you can't pay your counselor. Yeah. And she told you to do it.

00:51:51 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 2:

Jasmine, what's going on?

00:51:52 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 4:

hi guys i just wanted to tell you about my inspirational sign um i have it in my bathroom and it says if your duties be cray please use the spray i love it

00:52:06 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 2:

in beautiful cursive those are those are my favorite when you have that um i like i like when they're in the bathroom compared to the kitchen because that's where you want the reading material right yeah that's where you want to be able to uh i i thought about this and i chelsea would never let me do this. I thought, wouldn't it be great if next to the toilet, if you had headphones just hanging there where people could actually put music on and like sit in the toilet, like guests come in. So they grab a pair of headphones off of like a little nice little, you know, thing, grab the headphones, pop them on you, you know, like a pair of beats or something like over ears. No, but I'm saying people could do that. Or how about this one for your phone how about a like music stand like you see like musicians have where you can put your phone on a stand but it comes from the wall like you know you have hanging things that come you can do that no i'm saying that's what i wanted to put in my bathroom i want to do that for guests come over i like that but the bathroom headphones seems super gross why i don't know headphones in your ears and poop particles it's no different than you grabbing toilet off

00:53:15 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 5:

the toilet paper roll i guess i don't know that's also going near your booty hole the headphones

00:53:20 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 2:

aren't they're going near your face i understand but your your hands your hands are going to be dirty no matter what i i listen i it's not like people are sticking the headphones on their anus

00:53:27 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 5:

how dirty are your hands getting in the bathroom and why well your hands shouldn't be dirty by the

00:53:32 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

time you put the headphones on they're dirty after you put the headphones on uh angela what's going

00:53:37 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

on hey good morning good morning so um i i own my mom and i own a restaurant um and we have we've been open for like 16 years now and so we have a wall that we've kind of it started super small but it's like a thing now that um we have all of the signs on the wall and people will give them to us but they're not like inspirational like live laugh love crap i'm not no no thanks um it's all the sassy ones that i wish i could say to customers but i can't oh really oh okay like what give us one example so like my my current one that i have up that um like i have a letter board on one of them and it says don't blame the holidays you were fat in august that's great do people ever try to steal your signs oh yeah we were we were connected to um like a consignment shop for a long time and they've gone out of business but people would pluck our stuff off the walls and go over and try and pay for it over there um but yeah people try and buy our stuff all the time it's hilarious oh it's great uh what's up adam hey i got a great sign for you guys currently hangs in my living room okay it says friendship is like peeing your pants everyone can see it but only you can feel it's warm oh that's a good one uh britney what's

00:54:59 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Cheers.

00:55:00 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 1:

sign uh my sister she had the sign in her in her kitchen that said life short lick the bowl so i took that off her wall and put it on the windowsill next to the toilet and i like what alex does this

00:55:14 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 3:

is what you could do at your friend's house spike it'd be very subtle alex what do you do when you go over to family uh or what does family do to you when they go over to your house well in my

00:55:23 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 1:

kitchen i have a call a wall called a random mess so my family sometimes i take pictures of

00:55:30 - 00:55:49 | Speaker 3:

themselves like they're really funny and just paste it on the wall i like it so people actually add pictures to the wall it's kind of like when you went to that restaurant spike and put one of your you know autographed pictures in there my station picture yeah you go go over to your friend's house and all of a sudden just hang up and see how long it takes for them to realize that It's there.

00:55:49 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 4:

How am I supposed to live, laugh, and love in these conditions?

00:55:53 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what's trending this morning? What's going on in the 30?

00:56:00 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 2:

I know you've been following this story just as much as I have. The husband of that missing Massachusetts mom, Anna Walsh, has finally been charged with her murder three weeks after she vanished on New Year's Day. I mean, that one seems so obvious, right? So Brian is already in custody on charges of misleading police. There was so much evidence against this guy. I can't believe it took this long, but nonetheless, they got him. For weeks, police have been piecing together a case against him. Blood found in the couple's basement, a bloody hatchet, Google searches about how to dispose of a 115-pound female body that raised lots of eyebrows. Friends are now claiming that the couple's marriage was so strained recently. They were living apart. I know Anna was photographed without her wedding ring in some of the final photos that were taken before she vanished. Brian will appear in court later this morning.

00:56:53 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the tie between her and some people are claiming that there could be some kind of a weird thing with this, but a weird coincidence? She managed the hotel that the Secret Service agents were all arrested at. Remember, there was a bunch of Secret Service agents that were arrested at a hotel for, they were, I don't know, they were doing...

00:57:14 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 2:

Weren't they soliciting prostitutes?

00:57:16 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, prostitutes, hidden secrets, all the rest of this stuff. And she managed that hotel and was one of the people that came forward with all the information. And some people, conspiracy theorists on the internet are saying, you know, may not be the husband or whatever, but I don't know. It's just a weird coincidence that that's the case.

00:57:33 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 2:

Meryl Streep is joining Hulu's Only Murders in the Building for season three. That news was revealed in a new social media video that has Selena Gomez introducing her co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Soar as they return to production for the show. Paul Rudd is in there as well, which if you watch, you'll love that, of course. And then there's Meryl.

00:57:51 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 4:

Could this honestly get any better? Oh, wait. Steve, do you want a pillow? Yeah, please. Thank you. Thank you, ma'am.

00:57:59 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 2:

Marty, anything you need?

00:58:01 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 4:

Just the tea that I had asked for a half an hour ago. I'm okay. Thank you, Meryl. You're sweet.

00:58:05 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't know any details about the character that she's going to be playing, but she is a part of season three. That's obviously been confirmed. Can we talk about Giselle Bündchen and try to figure out what's going on with this trainer of hers? Did you guys see the pictures of her working out with him in Costa Rica this week? So his name is Joaquin Valente. He's a jujitsu instructor. They were jogging together. And I love page six's description of Giselle. Okay. They write, her perfectly tan skin glistened in the sunlight as her dirty blonde locks bounced up and down while pulled back into a messy updo, putting her washboard abs on display with her outfit. Wait, is this a romance? I know, right? I'm reading it going seriously. Well, these two first sparked romance rumors in the fall. There were some photos of them. I think it was like November, October, November. They were grabbing dinner together in Costa Rica with Giselle and Tom's two kids. However, sources continue to insist that he's just her trainer. That's it. He's also the kid's martial arts instructor. That's it. Their relationship is strictly platonic and professional. I don't know. You decide for yourself pictures on the dirty page.

00:59:11 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

That seems odd that you go for like a walk like that with your trainer. A jog. A jog, okay.

00:59:16 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 2:

But like the dinners and stuff? Yeah. I don't know. That's not normal to me, right?

00:59:21 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 3:

Probably not.

00:59:22 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 2:

Despite all of the controversy over the sex crime allegations that have really tarnished his reputation over the past couple of years, the Italian Museum of Cinema gave Kevin Spacey a Lifetime Achievement Award this week.

00:59:35 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 4:

My heart is very full tonight toward the Museum of Cinema for having had the La Palle to invite me tonight.

00:59:48 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 2:

The balls in Italian is what he said. Thank you for having the balls to invite me tonight.

00:59:52 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Some of those cases here in the States, actually, he got off of. Now he's getting brought up on the ones over in London.

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

In London.

01:00:00 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:00:01 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting because he has not been found guilty on any of these things yet. And I'm wondering if he's just got great lawyers or who knows.

01:00:08 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, if there were settlements or people. Yeah, I don't know what the story is. And lastly, a Taylor Swift-themed breakup bar is coming to Chicago later this month, just in time for Valentine's Day. The event company Bucket Lister is going to be decking out the bar Electric Garden in T-Swift memorabilia. So fans can get bejeweled for photo ops. You could get a tarot card reading. You could spin the shake-it-off wheel of cocktails for one of your favorite drinks. Taylor will not be there. I feel like I have to clarify that, but kind of a cool thing, a breakup bar. Taylor Swift-themed breakup bar. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

All right. It's a mojo in the morning show. So Shannon, your kids are copying you and it will explain. And then I want to talk about this. Go ahead. I need to scrub the Internet. So my kids are obsessed with YouTube as I really hope all kids are. And my kids just aren't the strange ones here. No, that's a good thing. So over the weekend, Lucy went up north with Andrew and all of her cousins, and Smith was with her as well. And she figured out that she could search for me and the show on YouTube. I don't know how this occurred to her, but it did. And so she said something to me yesterday about me learning how to twerk, and she was actually doing it. and I saw her twerking in the kitchen I go what are you doing and she's like I'm doing my impression of you learning how to twerk and I'm like what in the heck is she talking about and then she said something about uh penises and the first penis I ever saw and I finally after questioning her realized that she was all she was like going down the rabbit hole of the mojo in the morning youtube channel and watching all of our videos and listening to all of our stuff and so i had

01:04:06 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 2:

to tell her she is not allowed to do that anymore oh wow oh boy i've said this before i said the problem with what we do is going to be when your kids eventually go back and start googling i i

01:04:20 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 1:

texted andrew i go i either need to scrub the internet or we need to put some rules in place that she's not allowed to search me on YouTube.

01:04:27 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 2:

She needs to be blocked from any of our social media.

01:04:31 - 01:04:46 | Speaker 1:

She's like, do you remember when you were doing push-ups in your bra? And I had to go back on our YouTube and scroll through to when Jason Derulo came in the studio and we challenged him to a push-up contest. She's seen everything. Yes. And a lot of that stuff, I do not want her to see.

01:04:46 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

It's wild because of the one conversation, of all the conversations from time, one of your first conversations ever and I won't say what it is because your kids could be listening to you

01:05:00 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 1:

but it was something that one of the most personal things that Shannon ever shared she shared it within like four days of being on the radio

01:05:06 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 3:

it was my first day on the radio

01:05:07 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

it was like Shannon tell us something about you and all of a sudden I was like holy crap drop the mic on that one afterwards huh drop the mic drop everything you know it's

01:05:20 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 2:

it will live forever that stuff will live forever

01:05:22 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 1:

okay so here's the question to other moms and dads out there what is something from your past that you hope that your kids never come up with ever again or know about ever again because i'm assuming that many of our listeners if you google you you probably don't see like all your deep dark secrets although maybe some of you guys do but what is something from your past that you will never ever ever want to be revealed to your children 844 mojo live 844 844-665-6548.

01:05:56 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 3:

We'll voice disguise you if we need to.

01:05:58 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, we'll see how that thing works.

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah.

01:06:01 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 1:

Never mind. Not today. See if that thing. But I want to know, and you can use alias names when you call up and talk to our producer. But that's pretty wild. It's funny because I think I've shared everything with my kids. Like, I don't like the only thing that the only thing that I remember that my my kids have grabbed on to out of anything, though, that I have shared is how dumb I was growing up and how bad my grades were, because anytime I'll sit there and I'll yell at them about studying and grades and all the rest of stuff, it will come back to me that I got an 18 on my ACT.

01:06:35 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 3:

Right. Like that stuff. And even like when they're older, of course, I'll share all that stuff. But an eight and a five year old don't need to be watching 90 percent of the stuff that's probably on our YouTube channel right now.

01:06:47 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 4:

It's a tough age because obviously they have access to the whole world, but our embarrassing moments are in that whole world.

01:06:56 - 01:07:12 | Speaker 1:

But you know what's amazing is I think that kids are pretty resourceful when it comes to finding out things about their parents. Because remember years later I found out that my dad had been married before he was married to my mom and had a secret wife in Cuba. What's going on, Phil?

01:07:13 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo?

01:07:14 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 1:

Good, buddy. What's something that you hope that your kids never find out about?

01:07:19 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 6:

My criminal record. Oh, okay.

01:07:23 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 1:

Are we talking like bad, Phil?

01:07:26 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 6:

Like back before marijuana was legal, I was charged with manufacturing and distributing with a medical marijuana card, and that is still on the Internet to this day with my mugshot when I was 20 years old.

01:07:43 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Geez.

01:07:44 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 6:

I have six kids And two of them are 13 years old And I'm terrified that they're going to figure this out someday

01:07:52 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh yeah You know what's funny is that now that it is legal They still can't take that away Because what you were doing at the time was illegal You know

01:07:59 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely medical card or not I mean it's there for life

01:08:05 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 1:

You can't sell it to others What's going on Princess Hey guys How you doing Let me guess on this one here Is that your real name or is that a stage name

01:08:14 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 8:

It is my real name.

01:08:15 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Hey, Kelly. Oh.

01:08:16 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 8:

It's not a stage name. Wow.

01:08:18 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, Princess, what is something that you hope your kids never find out about you?

01:08:22 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 8:

Well, they already found it. I had a birthday where we went to this thing, and somebody invited me off stage to dance with the stripper, but I never said no clothes off. But my oldest father was like, hey, guys, you want to see Mom, be a stripper? Oh, no.

01:08:37 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's a bad one.

01:08:39 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I was going to work, too.

01:08:40 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 1:

You know how people find out? By the way, Princess, you know how people find out these things? Sometimes you take a picture like that, and then it goes in your family file on your phone. And then people get those nice little cute frames, or they put them on their television where it scrolls pictures. And then all of a sudden, a picture comes up that you shouldn't see on one of those rotating pictures. Jordan, what's going on?

01:09:03 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. How are you guys doing?

01:09:05 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic, Jordan. What is something that you hope that your kids don't ever find out about you?

01:09:12 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 7:

I hope my kids do not find out that I got caught making my own cookies at junior high by my teacher. Oh, jeez.

01:09:19 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 1:

Where the heck were you? And what a talent.

01:09:24 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 3:

Also, they will never find that out unless you tell them.

01:09:29 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 7:

Luckily, it was back in the 80s and there was no cell phones or videos.

01:09:32 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Okay. In school. Were you in class? Yeah, what class? In the bathroom?

01:09:38 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 7:

It was detention.

01:09:39 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 1:

In detention. I'll show them. Did the person that was monitoring you guys during the detention leave for a period of time?

01:09:47 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, she went to the bathroom and came back earlier than I expected.

01:09:51 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. Oh, my God. KP, tell the callers I don't have voice disguiser right now for this one, so this is a bad one.

01:10:00 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 2:

and ask them to not be. What's Gail? What's going on?

01:10:04 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 8:

Good morning, everybody. Good morning.

01:10:06 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:10:07 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 8:

Not what I'm trying to field my kid about me. It's about y'all. So I'm sitting here listening to Mojo in the morning in my living room. I had it on my loudspeaker, and it was War of the Roses. And my 10-year-old was like, hey, that sounds like a really interesting show. What's it called? I like Mojo in the morning. He's like, I'm going to go look it up on YouTube. I said, no, you may not.

01:10:30 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 1:

You're a good mom. I think our YouTube is safe for other people's kids. It's just our own kids seeing us do stuff.

01:10:37 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Jack? What's the one thing that you hope that your kids never find out about you?

01:10:41 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 6:

I would not want them to find out how much I skip school. Oh, yeah.

01:10:46 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:10:48 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 6:

That way they don't pick it up, you know?

01:10:49 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 2:

How many days did you miss of school? Do you have them counted?

01:10:53 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 6:

Senior year, I missed probably like 110 maybe.

01:10:59 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

01:11:00 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 2:

My buddy Tom Barrett's got you beat. He missed 137 days of school his senior year. He still passed? Oh, my gosh. He had to do summer school. Yeah. You know what's funny? I believe that if you're going to do that, do it your senior year because they want you out of there. They want the number for graduation.

01:11:16 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 6:

Exactly.

01:11:17 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Thank you for the call. Stacy?

01:11:21 - 01:11:22 | Speaker 9:

Yes.

01:11:22 - 01:11:24 | Speaker 2:

Hi. What's something that you hope your kids never find out about?

01:11:25 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 9:

Well, I was in my late 20s and 30s. Before I had kids at 36 and 38, I was in a wet t-shirt contest. I had a Harley and had a great group of friends, and they talked me into it. And that's something I wanted my kids ever to find out. But my mom, rest her soul, who just passed away, was brutally honest and was like, yeah, you had some wild streaks in you. And I'm like, Mom, I'm looking at her like, shut up.

01:11:51 - 01:11:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

01:11:53 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, I came up after a couple glasses of wine and Thanksgiving, so that was awesome.

01:11:59 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy. Yeah.

01:12:01 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 4:

I'm not a parent, but if there's one fictional parent you should take advice from, I think it's Moira Rose, and we would all agree. And she would say that she's proud of you for being that wet future contest, because you will never look that way again.

01:12:14 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 9:

I have two girls, 16 and 14, and I definitely don't want them being in a wet future contest.

01:12:18 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 3:

that's my that's my biggest fear is like i don't care anything that we've done in the air to this point anyways uh what i mean i'd be embarrassed about it but i think the biggest thing i don't want to have to talk to my dog about is my crappy dating history oh yeah because

01:12:33 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 2:

i was a terrible oh no talk about that and talk about the fact that you got to look for a good

01:12:38 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 1:

guy and how you became a good guy yeah i guess it's a lesson no but that could be bad because then she might get with a bad guy and say, well, he'll become a good guy like Daddy did.

01:12:48 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 2:

Jane, are you okay? I want to make sure that you're not sick here. You have a little cough going. There you go. Hi. I've got to dump that. I've got to dump that. You can't say that.

01:12:59 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 7:

Sorry, sorry, sorry.

01:13:00 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

Do you still want to go on the air? We have no voices, Geyser Machine.

01:13:04 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 7:

And no more swearing. Okay. No swearing.

01:13:07 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:13:09 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 7:

Okay. You know what?

01:13:10 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

Change your own voice. You change your own voice. Go ahead.

01:13:14 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 7:

No. I'll just, because it is what it is. So a couple summers ago, I was out. I was dating this guy for a few months, whatever. And he wanted to go to a swingers club. Right? So he's open to going to the swingers club. It was my first time. My parents were, quote, unquote, out of town. We saw my parents at the swingers club. Oh, no. To this day, well, hopefully nobody, I know they're not listening, but hopefully nobody knows my voice. To this day, don't know that I saw them.

01:13:49 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. So this is actually interesting because it's not what you don't want your kids to know. It's what you don't want your parents to know. But you actually witnessed that your parents were swingers. Did you even know that your parents were swingers?

01:14:01 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 7:

Heck no.

01:14:02 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 2:

Heck no.

01:14:03 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no, no, no.

01:14:04 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 2:

And you don't want your kids to know about this Because you don't want your kids to know And their grandparents are swingers, right?

01:14:09 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 7:

Right Yeah, well, my parents should be the ones calling in But Honestly, God, like, it's weird

01:14:17 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys exit right away? Exit stage left as soon as you possibly could? Yeah

01:14:22 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, and the guy was Dayton at the time, whatever Was like, okay, like, I get it, it's too much And I had to explain to him Like, what had happened And he was like, no way because he thought it was my first time going to a swingers club no no no it wasn't just that I thought it was my mom and dad

01:14:41 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 2:

were your parents in compromising situations

01:14:45 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 7:

oh god couldn't you please even tell them this story Christmas has been weird

01:14:53 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

alright Mojo in the Morning Show we're uninterrupted

01:15:00 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 3:

Time now for a phone scam on Mojo in the Morning. Kim wants us to scam Amy at their front desk. Spike is going to see if they can squeeze a last-minute appointment in for their dog, for his dog. But this is not a dog groomer. It's a hair salon for humans. We're going to have fun with a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:15:21 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song.

01:15:28 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 3:

It's your home of phone scans. Mojo in the morning.

01:15:35 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Dylan.

01:15:37 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Who's speaking, please?

01:15:39 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 2:

This is Amy.

01:15:40 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Amy. Is this the place that does the pedia cures and the manicutials? Yes, we do. I just need to make an appointment for Mr. Alfred Julesbury-Wagglesworth.

01:15:50 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Is this the first time he's coming in?

01:15:53 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 1:

It is.

01:15:55 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 2:

If you want, I have an appointment for Friday. Otherwise, we could take you possibly to the walk-in tomorrow, but we won't be able to do the cut, just his nails.

01:16:05 - 01:16:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, definitely, we would not be doing any walking in. Here's the thing. He passed away last night.

01:16:12 - 01:16:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm sorry, sir, but we don't offer services to those that have already passed away.

01:16:19 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he's not.

01:16:21 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 2:

He's not deceased, or he is?

01:16:23 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 1:

No, he is. I mean, he's not a person.

01:16:27 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm confused.

01:16:28 - 01:16:36 | Speaker 1:

And I'm Pisces. See, he's a quirky poo. He's part Yorkie, part Corgi, and a little bit of poodle.

01:16:38 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 2:

So you're trying to make an appointment for your dead dog?

01:16:42 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 1:

Are you good with the doggy style?

01:16:45 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. He's not just any dog.

01:16:47 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 1:

He's a show dog. He won the prettiest dog contest four times, and he passed on. before this weekend's big show, and we were all very sad, and we had already registered for her, so we would like to get him groomed in a jiffy so that we can still put him on display.

01:17:04 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 2:

I've just never heard of this sort of thing.

01:17:06 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 1:

I accept your deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts at this time of sorrow. So can I get an appointment?

01:17:12 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 2:

No, sir, I'm sorry we don't offer that.

01:17:14 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 1:

All I'm asking is the comfort of an appointment will be our strength now and in the days ahead as we return our poor dog to meet his maker.

01:17:21 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 2:

sir i'm very sorry for your loss but i will have to recommend that you call a grooming salon i've

01:17:28 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 1:

been trying to you know floof his fur out a bit and get him going but you know i'm afraid to go

01:17:32 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 2:

down around his privates with a scissor i'm sorry sir we don't offer that here it's very unhygienic

01:17:39 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 1:

we can't offer that kind of service to you but it's not he can't possibly wet himself he'll stay still he'll behave you understand i understand sir thank you you are a blessing i appreciate you understanding. So when's our appointment? I'm sorry, sir. We can't take you. This loss has really torn us up. We did the same thing with our last two dogs, Chewbarka and Mary Puppins. And we'll probably do it for Puggy Smalls, the notorious D.O.G. Okay, well. Have you heard of Chewbarka? I have not. He is the only Yorkapoo in the state who can play checkers he can beat any 12th grader good good luck to you today okay but did you ask

01:18:25 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 2:

kimberly if she'll do it just tell me nobody else is in yet but i i will ask around because

01:18:31 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 1:

she's the one who told us to phone scam you you know this is the mojo in the morning show and you've been the victim of a phone scam

01:18:39 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 3:

It's too early for this We will We will scam you We interrupt this message to tell you That was funny It's the home of the world famous phone scams

01:19:05 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 2:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning

01:19:07 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Thank you for joining us. This is the Mojo in the Morning show. Your home of the phone scams, the War of the Roses, and the Dirty on the 30 coming up here in moments. what's your weird rule that you have at your work i gotta tell you what happened to me when i went to go buy pizza from a very famous pizza place talk about that coming up here in just a second also busted by bluetooth mike with an extremely funny story of not only getting busted by Allie and the kids but what he was getting busted

01:20:00 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 1:

at doing is really funny so that's on the way in just a little bit um we have shannon and where did your weave come out wait till you hear where shannon found someone's weave that's happening and then megan with who's in your phone favorites we're all wondering if we are but i know that there's one particular phone number in there that will make you laugh that's all happening within the next say 40 minutes or so or 45 minutes on the Mojo in the Morning Show and the beauty is you're not going to hear a commercial break so we will not do a commercial break between now and the time that you're going to wherever you're going unless you're listening to us and you're driving to Alaska if you're driving to Alaska you're going to hear a couple commercial breaks probably coming up here in just a little bit alright Mojo in the Morning Show so Luke had some buddies over to the house And I have to tell you that it's wild because Luke never has people over. And when I would ask him, why don't you ever invite people to our house? I thought maybe he was like ashamed or embarrassed or something. And his reasoning was because I don't want to have to clean up afterwards. It was like his reasoning of not having friends over because he knows that when they go over to friends' houses that they destroy probably the basements in these homes. Well, I was going to go and get a bunch of stuff for these guys to eat. So I decided that I would go to, and I'm doing this because of our bosses are always concerned whenever we name businesses and have stories to tell about them. I don't want them to get mad at us. But a famous pizza place, locally owned in Detroit. You guess which one it was. Lots and lots of locations. The beauty is I could do this. And yeah, let me say this to you. So there are how many locally owned, famous pizza places in this city? Many of them. We are Pizza City, not only Automotive City, but Pizza City. So I go in to buy the pizzas, and the manager of the restaurant was helping me out, or the pizza place was helping me out. And she was actually working by herself, it looked like, because she was making the pizzas and she was doing them, boxing them up. And she was spectacular. Let me go on record to say that her customer service was with a smile. She had all the pizzas ready, hot and ready, awesome, looking good. And she hands them over to me, and I thought, you know what? I want to give her a tip. So I reached in my pocket, and I had money. So I pulled out the money to go hand it over to her, and she says, oh, no, I can't take it. And I'm like, yes, I want to give this to you. You did such an amazing job. I want to give it. She goes, no, no, no, I can't. She says, I'll meet you in the parking lot. I'm like, wait a second, hold on. This is not what I'm... Can you clarify? Am I going to be part of a West Bloomfield sting where I'll be arrested by the cops?

01:22:58 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 1:

So I go out to the car, I put them in the car into my Tahoe, and she says, I can't take tips because we have cameras inside of our business and we're not allowed to take tips. So that's why she came outside and I gave her the tip.

01:23:14 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:23:15 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 1:

All right? I want to know what is the weird rule that you have in your company or the stupid rule that you have in your company that we would be surprised by. Your business, company, whatever it is. What's the stupid rule you have? Because this pizza place, and I didn't name a pizza place, but this pizza place has a dumb rule that they cannot accept tips.

01:23:36 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 2:

That is kind of a dumb rule. Isn't it? Yeah. I mean, listen. If she went above and beyond, she deserves a tip. If you feel so inclined to give her one.

01:23:44 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 1:

And I'll be honest with you, I think in this day and age, we need to give them tips. We need to do whatever we can. I know the economic situation is so bad right now, but I think if you get somebody that gives you above and beyond service to continue that service, man, reward whoever it is. But she had to follow me into the parking lot in order to get that from me.

01:24:06 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 2:

As long as they're not pressuring you to give a tip.

01:24:09 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I hate when they do that.

01:24:10 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 2:

You know what I hate? I hate when they do that.

01:24:12 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 1:

The iPad screen. Oh, I can't stand it. Or they'll say to you, would you like to put a tip on this? I always hate when they do that thing because they're making me feel pressured. And I know that they do it because they want to remind you that they are still accepting tips. But the iPad screen, like Spike said, at Beyond Juice, it does it all the time. They flip it around. And when they flip it around, I'm like, I feel so pressured.

01:24:35 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 2:

Me too.

01:24:36 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Good job not naming companies But it wasn't Another email from our boss It wasn't involved in my story

01:24:45 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 2:

We all love Beyond Juice That part always makes me nervous

01:24:49 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 1:

They weren't a pizza place By the way

01:24:54 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys tip when you get your oil changed? Because that just happened to me over the weekend I got my oil changed and the guy just stood there

01:25:00 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 1:

afterwards i was like well i i feel like sometimes i do and sometimes i don't i do it at gordon

01:25:05 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 2:

chevrolet so usually when i go there this wasn't the dealership i didn't have time to go down to

01:25:10 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 1:

moran or else i would have but never tipped for an oil change are you supposed to well i remember tipping one time because the guy was like a super fan of the show and that i i that's another situation where i get really nervous and so i i gave him a tip but then this guy just like stood there awkwardly and i didn't know what to do i do it and to be very honest i did not have any cash on me because i think i had a dollar the porter that drives the car around but i don't even see

01:25:36 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 6:

the person that changed the text that changed the oil yeah this was one of those like drive

01:25:40 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 4:

into the garage places and uh kendall what's happening hi um i go to cosmetology school and we charge the people that come full prices for their services um and we don't see any of the money and then on top of it they're not allowed to tip us wow that so that's the stupid rules that they've got around there huh yeah it's kind of crazy like last month i made 1200

01:26:06 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 2:

for the place wow but wait so hold on so you pay for your your schooling at the cosmetology school and there's no way for you to make up the money that you're paying by getting some extra cash

01:26:17 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 6:

i never knew that not at all that's why that's wild wow they're really banking on all those students then they're getting they're getting all the money from you learning they're getting twice

01:26:26 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 2:

they're getting free labor out of the deal wait a second hold on that doesn't seem right can you

01:26:30 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 6:

sneak a qr code or something like put it on your uh your apron so that people can scan and venmo you

01:26:36 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 2:

or something you know what you know what honestly we need to go we won't even we're not even allowed to have free interns anymore because of it was you know suit we were not our company but one of the other radio companies big companies xm serious was sued for you know interns doing all the work and not getting paid, but these guys at cosmetology school are still doing that. What's up, David?

01:26:57 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 3:

I work for a home delivery service. We were not allowed to accept any party invites, weddings, birthdays, come over for a Super Bowl party. They wanted you to be friendly, not friends.

01:27:11 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 6:

Oh, okay. So what are you delivering, food for parties, or what do you deliver?

01:27:16 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Big yellow truck, frozen ice cream. Oh, okay. people would invite you to their weddings oh my gosh uh barbecues weddings birthday parties wow you were going and building relationships with these you were there every two weeks yeah okay

01:27:31 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

all right yeah that's pretty wild wasn't allowed to accept them what happens if you get caught

01:27:36 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 3:

doing that well if another customer would call in you could get fired because they wanted you To be friendly, not friends.

01:27:44 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 2:

What if the customer were to say, I'm offended by you not accepting my invite and I won't shop with you guys anymore?

01:27:53 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 3:

Company policy. I don't know if my job's worth you being offended.

01:27:57 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's crazy. Well, thanks for the call. I appreciate that.

01:28:02 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 6:

It's crazy.

01:28:02 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, thank you, by the way, for keeping that company's name out. You're better than I am. Then Tony will reward you. Our boss will reward you for not saying that.

01:28:10 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 6:

But you know that policy was created because somebody did something sloppy. Somebody went to a party and threw up on a customer and lost a million-dollar account, and they had to create this entire policy.

01:28:20 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

Marie, what's happening?

01:28:22 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys.

01:28:23 - 01:28:23 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:28:24 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:28:25 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 6:

Where do you work? What kind of business do you work at?

01:28:28 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 5:

A really big delivery company, I'll say. Okay.

01:28:33 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And what's the rule that they have?

01:28:36 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 5:

So we can't accept tips over $5.

01:28:41 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. So anything under $5.

01:28:45 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 5:

I'll just say we're out there rain, sleet, or snow.

01:28:49 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 6:

I was just going to say, because I know the post office, they used to say anything over $20 was not allowed for the holiday.

01:28:58 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 5:

$5. Wow. That's great.

01:29:00 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

What if I give it to you in three installments?

01:29:04 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 5:

Right. Yeah. I mean, we still have people that love us and look out, but I just think it's funny.

01:29:09 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 2:

Does that mean Christmas gifts, too? You can't accept Christmas gifts?

01:29:12 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, we're not supposed to.

01:29:16 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 6:

We've got to give you $10 $5 Starbucks cards.

01:29:20 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how about that? Can you not accept, like, if I gave you a $20 gift card, that's not $5, but it's a gift card.

01:29:29 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I can accept whatever you want to get.

01:29:32 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they're not in the truck with Marie, so we can just put a post-it note. We'll write $5 on the card and put a post-it note and say, hey, this says $50.

01:29:40 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 5:

There you go. exactly this is what the massage place told me too

01:29:45 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 2:

all right it is mojo in the morning show so mike got busted by ali explain this whole story because it's really funny busted by bluetooth so we were uh we were going i don't remember where There we go. And we had somewhere to be. Kids are in the car. You know that struggle. You get in the car. You start the car. You're getting ready to pull out. And you're like, oh, I forgot this. And we do it every single day. There has never been a time, since we've been parents anyways, that we have gotten into the car and just driven off. Like, we always forget something. And usually I'm the one to run in and grab whatever it is. So I think I forgot my wallet and a couple other things. And then I realized the lights were on. And so I was in the house running around, and also the playoffs were happening at this time. And so I have the NFL app on my phone, and so I was watching the game as I'm looking for this stuff, too. And it's playoffs, and I got bets on these games, so I'm watching, and I kind of get distracted while I'm watching. And so I'm walking around my house looking for all this stuff, and then I think I found it, and I kind of was just taking my time to get back to the car because I wanted to watch the game. I didn't even factor in that I couldn't hear it as I'm watching the game. And I get back in the car, and I sit down, and she goes, well, what took you so long? And I was like, ah, I just couldn't find my wallet or something. I don't remember what I said. She goes, you know your phone connects to your car through your Bluetooth, right? We heard the game the entire time. We know you were in there watching the game the whole time. And I went, oh, crap. Oh, that was so good.

01:31:18 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 1:

She just couldn't wait to bust you.

01:31:20 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, she knew. Immediately she knew.

01:31:22 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 3:

How long were you in there?

01:31:24 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 2:

Were you, like, sitting there watching, like, all four downs or what? You know, yeah, you know when you're watching it and you're like, all right, as soon as it goes to commercial, then I'm going to stop off.

01:31:32 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 1:

And your family's sitting in the car.

01:31:34 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 2:

Sitting in the car, it's running, and they could hear it the whole time, too. And I'm like, you know when you do that thing where you try to turn it up, and you're like, I can't hear it. Oh, well. So I turned it all the way up. So it's that full blast in the car. And she can turn it down from the car But she still heard it immediately And she's like what is going on And I forget every time that my car does that And sometimes it'll play like a song randomly from it Like from my iTunes or whatever But if it's hooked up to like any kind of video Like TikTok or anything It'll immediately start playing it And it did it with the NFL game So I was in there probably I don't know It was probably a good 5-10 minutes

01:32:10 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 3:

I had the embarrassment Of watching on my phone a little adult movie the night before or you know whatever the evening before and then you know how you get into your car in your car through apple whatever play what is that thing called play apple carplay apple carplay automatically connects to your phone and sometimes when it connects to your phone it will play whatever is in your phone at the highest volume that you had it at the last time you're doing it and my family's all you know sitting there getting into the car and doing it and it plays the movie that i was watching from the night before very embarrassing situation and mike make sure you wipe your slate clean before you get into the car from now on you don't close that immediately that's not the next thing you do Really? This time I did not, but now I do. Now I do, and I delete everything off of my thing so that-

01:33:11 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 5:

And then throw the phone away in shame.

01:33:15 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 3:

I know a guy. This is going to be weird. We have kids sometimes, so I'll keep it really quiet. But I know a guy that has a separate device that's just for him to watch, you know-

01:33:28 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 1:

Really? Just to avoid those kind of moments?

01:33:31 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 3:

He doesn't want his wife to see the stuff that he watches and things like that. So he has a completely separate device that he uses for that. And I'm like, wait a second.

01:33:40 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 1:

That looks even more shady than what he's doing.

01:33:43 - 01:33:54 | Speaker 5:

No, but your kids use your devices all the time, Shannon. You let your kids look at your phone, and then that's the same phone you're sending naughty pictures to your boyfriend on. Stuff's going to get mixed up. These kids are smarter than me. I mean, I get it.

01:33:55 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm just saying, if I were that guy's wife and I found an extra phone, oh my gosh.

01:34:00 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 5:

Well, she probably knows.

01:34:01 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

She knows he has the thing. Oh, okay. But she believes that it's just for work purposes, but it's his, you know, his device. His porn phone. His porn phone, exactly. The P-phone. Yes. All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number, 844-665-6548. How did technology bust you? What did you get busted by? I know people always, you know, will call us up if we do a topic about getting busted by stuff it'll always be like wrong texts and things like that send it to the wrong person but a lot of times i want to hear the story about what was it that was playing you know or what was it that they that you know was able to be seen because of this because honestly i am not the most technology smart person like yesterday you know what i just learned on my phone right i did not know this so if you have a pair of shoes on okay you ready for this come here for one second let me show you this you may already know this and you're probably gonna be like mojo i knew this for the longest time. I probably don't. All right? I'm going to take a pair. I'm going to take a pair.

01:35:00 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 1:

picture of your shoes ready yeah like your shoes the apple like shop for them search for them i

01:35:07 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 2:

punch on it right now i punch on the thing right now like this yeah all right hold on and it will hold on why is it not doing it oh there you go there you go copy if i do this if i put put it into my thing it will tell me exactly where you can get those shoes at did you know that no so and this is amazing because i always see people that have cool shoes on oh it's got all the department stores and stuff that that will show it so it's like wherever you can get it at macy's or you can get it out at nordstrom's or wherever but do you do that spike did you know

01:35:37 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 1:

that that could do that yeah i did not know that you could so i use it all the time you can just screenshot any picture on instagram of a place and then search it'll tell you exactly where it is

01:35:46 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 4:

yeah so is that any article of clothing or just shoes it could no it's anything anything that you

01:35:51 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 2:

have right now and this picture just put it in well i don't understand what you just did did you So I took a picture, screenshotted it, then copied it, pasted it into my Safari, in my search, and it showed up where you can get it.

01:36:05 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 4:

So I love that because a lot of times I see someone standing in front of me at Target or whatever, and I like their shoes, but I don't want to be like, where did you get your shoes? I get too nervous sometimes. So now you can creepily take a picture of the stranger? That's nice. Yes. I know. They're out in public. It's fair game.

01:36:20 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 2:

Sandy showed me that from B-Wax yesterday when I went and got my nostrils waxed. So shout out to Sandy Hey what's going on Mojo in the morning Hello

01:36:27 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 5:

Hi Mojo it's Lisa how are you guys

01:36:30 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 2:

What's up Lisa

01:36:31 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 5:

This is like one of my favorite topics I must say

01:36:36 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh yeah

01:36:37 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 5:

So I was out By the pool and my ex-husband Came out and he had His new bluetooth speakers And He went to play some music And it was interrupted by I noticed stating that so-and-so was sending him a text message.

01:36:58 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so-and-so I'm assuming was a woman he was fooling around with?

01:37:03 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. Oh, wow. Then I looked at his face. He looked at me, and our neighbor was in the pool. He slowly walked out of the pool, grabbed his towel, and just went back home.

01:37:15 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What was the message?

01:37:18 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I don't know the message. He just says the name. Yeah, and I said, who is so-and-so? And let me tell you, he had no explanation whatsoever.

01:37:28 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 2:

So, Mike, so basically it would be like all of a sudden, you know, Crystal is calling or Crystal is sending a message. You can do that on your thing when you get a text message or a phone call. You have a phone call from, you know, how it does that.

01:37:41 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 1:

With my AirPods, though, it'll read me the message.

01:37:43 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, you got to be careful. You got to be careful if it's not connected to your AirPod, but it connected to some other, you know, Alexa or whatever you have in the device. Lisa, I'm sorry about that. No man should ever cheat on you. You're wonderful.

01:37:57 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, Mojo. It was a blessing in disguise.

01:38:00 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 2:

Good. Gwen, what's going on?

01:38:03 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 6:

Well, I and my husband had missed the birth of our son, and so we took a video of it, you know, so he could watch it later so he could kind of experience it. And my daughter was like five and a half, six at the time. And we were letting her play with my phone And about a week later she shows me the phone And says mom what's this And this is a video of me giving birth to our son

01:38:24 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 1:

Well it's one way to learn About the birds and the bees

01:38:28 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah

01:38:30 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 1:

So like if you have Your husband taking video of The birth he's not up there comforting you And holding your hand

01:38:37 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 2:

No he wasn't at the birth I think she said she missed the birth So they showed it to him later By the way when you watch the birth of your baby With your husband and finally Do you cook a meal beforehand and sit down and watch it? Like, do you have, like, popcorn?

01:38:49 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't think they let you do that anymore.

01:38:51 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 2:

That must have been a little bit ago. But, listen, I watched the birth of one of Chelsea's friends' babies.

01:38:57 - 01:38:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I remember you talking about that. I told that story.

01:38:59 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 2:

I was like, yee. What's going on, Mark?

01:39:04 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 3:

Hey, this is about 15 years ago when I was in law school. I'd had a party at my house, and we'd been listening to Kid Rock super, super loud on my laptop, and the battery had died. So the laptop just kind of, you know, shut off, and the party was over. I shut it, whatever. So the next morning, I got on. This was back when I was young, and I could actually do this. I had an 8 a.m. law school class the next day, and I go in, and I plug my laptop in to prepare for class. And this may have happened to you before, but the laptop just picks up right where it's left off. And then I couldn't get it to turn off because it was like loading, you know? So I just, I picked up the laptop and walked out of class.

01:39:53 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 2:

And now the man is a lawyer. Now he's getting people out of problems. Colby. Hey, guys, what's up? So I have an embarrassing story about how Bluetooth got me. So I was home alone, you know, having sexy talk with my girl at the time. And we're just texting. Then I get this voice message that's like a minute and 30 seconds. And I'm like, and then I hear someone pull up. So I'm like, let me hurry up and listen to this because I know it's going to be very dirty. So I try to play it. And I'm like, I don't hear anything. So I try to turn my phone up. and I still don't hear anything. I'm like, what's going on with my phone? Is it connected to my AirPods or whatever? All I know is two minutes later, my mom, my dad, and my little sister gets in the house, and my little sister is just crying and laughing. My mom and dad are like, so who's your dirty little princess? Oh, no. Oh, and I'm like, and I finally, you know, they turned off the car, so I finally get to listen to the message. And I'm like, oh, my God, this is the dirtiest message I've ever listened to.

01:41:08 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 3:

And it was, where was the plane, in the house?

01:41:11 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was plane in the car.

01:41:13 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, in the car.

01:41:14 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 2:

Because I took my parents' car to go shopping earlier. Yep, I took my parents' car to go shopping earlier. And I'm like, so do you guys not know how to use Bluetooth to take my phone off?

01:41:21 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 3:

you got to be careful sometimes if your phone is connected to a car if your family's gone and all of a sudden they pull back in the driveway it will reconnect back to that car you know you got to be yeah i learned the hard way the dirty little princess um sean yeah hi sean last call from you what's going on we're talking about how you got busted

01:41:46 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 1:

My son, he's 26 now, but it was when he was like 17, me and my four kids and my boyfriend were camping, and my son used my phone that night, got it back the next morning, went to Google something, and all kinds of porn sites popped up.

01:42:07 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 3:

Gotta love that kid, huh?

01:42:08 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 1:

I told him, I says, okay, Chris, come on now. He says, well, you know how I am, Mom.

01:42:15 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Now you've got to wonder, when you were camping, were you guys all in the same tent?

01:42:22 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 1:

We were all in the same camper.

01:42:25 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. That poor kid.

01:42:29 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, boy. Yeah, he was straight across from us in the bed. Oh, God.

01:42:35 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 3:

All right, voice dude, tell us the number for Mojo in the morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Mojo in the morning show. Shannon's got the dirty coming up in a little bit. What's trending in like less than five minutes?

01:42:54 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 4:

So Christina Applegate, obviously you've been battling MS for the past couple of years. Somebody left a comment on a photo of her on her social media that was so disturbing. And I love her response to it. So we'll talk about that. Channing Tatum getting hooked up to a lie detector test to come clean about his stripper skills. That story coming up in the dirty as well.

01:43:13 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 3:

And your chance to win $10,000 in free groceries. We have that for you coming up in a little bit with our Grocery Grab. Brought to you by Kroger. Mojo in the morning show. So, Shannon, where did you find someone's weave?

01:43:26 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 4:

This is so random. I was getting gas yesterday at the gas station. And I don't know if you guys are like me, but a lot of times when I'm getting gas, just to kind of kill time, I clean out my car. At the same time, all of the crap from the kids I take out from the backseat and throw it away in the garbage can that's right there next to the gas pump. So that's exactly what I was doing. And I noticed that there was like a big, long piece of blonde weave hanging out of the garbage can. And I thought to myself, I know that extensions are very expensive. So why? Like, how did this come to be right there? Was there a fight? And that's where it ended up? Did it come out and you just left it? I don't know why. You would just leave your weave hanging halfway out of the garbage can at the gas station. So my question to you is, where did you leave your weave?

01:44:13 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I like it. Or where did you lose your weave? Or where did you lose is probably more appropriate, yes? A decision is made at that point, because like you said, they're expensive. So you're either really frustrated, or you just don't have time, or you're going somewhere

01:44:24 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 4:

Or you didn't notice.

01:44:25 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 3:

That's a guy that's on his way home not knowing that he's going back to his family's house and the girl he's been fooling around with left the weave in the car.

01:44:33 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 4:

I wanted to know the story of that piece of weave real bad.

01:44:36 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 3:

You know what that's like? that's like me having to throw away my burger king on my way home so that would be a great

01:44:44 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 4:

reality show not even a great reality show just like an investigation of going through gas station garbage cans because think how many people dispose of evidence there right yeah yeah i'm i yeah megan what do you say so i was gonna say i um went to a frat

01:45:00 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 5:

party at osu and uh obviously was making poor decisions that night and i remember i had a brand new uh like set of hair in like human hair it was very long i feel like it was like 30 inches and i clipped in a weft into one of a dude's like heads and he was laughing like a mullet and he put a hat on and ran away and the weft was gone and i am so mad about it to this day it's been 10 years so I'm still mad.

01:45:28 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Joke's on you. What's up, Renee?

01:45:34 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I was at a sketchy gas station in the city, and there was a weave at the top of the gas station garbage can, and I was afraid there was a head attached to it. It was that much.

01:45:45 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 2:

Jeez. But somebody also threw it in the gas station garbage can, huh?

01:45:49 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it happened. I don't know why.

01:45:51 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 2:

That might be a thing. Get rid of your weave at the gas station At the BP What's up Marilyn

01:46:00 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 4:

Hi So it's not a weave, it's a toupee But when I was younger we were at a family gathering And my uncle wears a toupee And it's like the family's not so hidden secret And my two year old cousin went and pulled it Right off his head Oh my god Poor guy

01:46:17 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah it was funny Was he embarrassed?

01:46:21 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he was. I felt so bad. It was like his hidden secret. Like, no one is supposed to know, but literally everybody knows.

01:46:27 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what's amazing about that, too, is that a lot of people that will wear, like, toupees or have a toupee, they look so much better if they just got rid of it. They would give them a little bit of... Not anymore. Not anymore. Why? Toupees are good?

01:46:40 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 5:

They look good now.

01:46:40 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:46:40 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 5:

They look really good now.

01:46:42 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 2:

Are they as good as weaves? Because women's weaves are so much better than men's toupees.

01:46:46 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 5:

I'm here for a man who wears a toupee. Really? Let me tell you why. Let me tell you. Because that is a man who then is okay with everything I'm doing to change the way I look. And I'm all without confidence. If that makes him feel good, he's going to be happier. I'm going to be happier. I have yet to see one that looks like it is in a toupee. Yeah. Then you guys are not falling in a bright hairdresser. Especially if you go bald early in your family.

01:47:11 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 2:

Megan, by the way, the ultimate would be if you're in a relationship with a guy with a toupee, if you can make love and make his toupee fly off.

01:47:20 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, wouldn't you feel good about that?

01:47:23 - 01:47:27 | Speaker 2:

That would be, seriously, as a guy, I'd be like, oh. Can I ask a dumb question?

01:47:27 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 3:

How do you attach a toupee?

01:47:28 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 2:

I think they snap, don't they? Don't they have a little snappy? No, a lot of times it's a glue. Is it glue? What's going on, Brittany?

01:47:35 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 8:

So I'm from a super small town, and I moved down by 10 Mile, and I'm at Walmart, and I'm walking through the parking lot, and I see, and I thought it was a snake on the ground, and I'm like, how is there a snake out here in the middle of the city? And I get closer, and it's like a four-foot-long braided weave just laying in the parking lot, all crusty. And I'm like, this is not Marine City anymore.

01:47:55 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. Wendy, hi. What's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:48:01 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I did not find a weave in the garbage, but I found something interesting. I was cleaning my car out, actually the car wash. And I saw in the garbage can what I thought was a real big doll leg, like off a doll.

01:48:13 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:48:13 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, a big plastic leg, and I took a second look, and it was a gigantic dildo. Oh, jeez.

01:48:18 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. Oh, boy.

01:48:20 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 3:

Now, again, don't you want to know the story of how that ended up there?

01:48:25 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 7:

I've never forgotten. It was like 20 years ago.

01:48:28 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 2:

We should almost ask the guys at the gas station when we're going in, you know, to buy, like, our, I don't know.

01:48:35 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 3:

Slim Jims and lottery tickets.

01:48:36 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, or energy drinks. Ask them, what's the craziest thing you found in your gas station, in garbage? because I bet you they found crazy stuff in the gas station. I didn't ask which location that was. Was that the one that Shannon was cleaning out her car? Yeah, exactly. By the way, I mentioned just a second ago that that's where I used to throw away, the gas station is where I would throw away my Burger King. Chelsea sent me this.

01:49:01 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 1:

Whopper, Whopper, Whopper, Whopper, Junior Double Triple Whopper.

01:49:05 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, thank you for the Whopper song. I appreciate that. By the way, is it just me, Or whenever that commercial comes on television The Bergen commercial You have it in your head the whole day Whenever it does the bopper, whopper, whopper Do you get that in your head? No But now that you're talking about whopper

01:49:22 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 3:

I would love a whopper junior

01:49:23 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 2:

I will bet you now you'll see it on television And that will be in your head the rest of the day

01:49:29 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Double, triple whopper Plain grill taste with perfect toppers I rule this day

01:49:35 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 2:

And BK Have it your way All right, Mojo in the Morning show.

01:49:42 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. We lead. The other shows swallow. Follow.

01:49:49 - 01:49:50 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning.

01:49:52 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:49:54 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's going to do the Dirty. We'll get winners or get a winner, 95th color, while she's. doing it what's going on so christina applegate slammed an internet troll rightfully so who accused her of getting bad plastic surgery this hater wrote on one of christina's photos ms didn't make you look that way the plastic surgeon did so christina posted a screenshot of this interaction on twitter and replied that the dm wasn't nice she went on to tweet what is wrong with people by the way i laughed and the interaction comes just a few weeks after she told the kelly clarkson show, she was a guest on that show, that she uses humor often to deflect from her incredibly difficult battle with MS. I mean, she's talked openly about the struggles, including a 40-pound weight gain. And she said, when people see me now as a disabled person, I want them to feel comfortable that we can laugh about it. She said she's been doing her best to get through it, but the hurtful comments aren't helping. Channing Tatum did one of those lie detector tests for Vanity Fair, answering a series of questions about his career and pop culture and his personal life talked about his role in the gi joe movies you played duke in gi joe the rise of cobra

01:51:02 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 1:

uh-huh did you ask to be killed off in the first 10 minutes of the sequel yes do you regret that

01:51:10 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 4:

choice no the first one i i passed on seven times but they had an option on me and and i had to do the movie so the second one i i obviously just didn't want to be in that one either

01:51:23 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 1:

He's telling the truth

01:51:25 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 2:

Also talked about his stripping skills In the Magic Mike movies Would you say that you were a better stripper than Joe Manganiello?

01:51:32 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 4:

100% We're different Different classes of strippers Probably Joe Manganiello is one of those bodies That like pops up Because he's kind of weirdly flawless But as far as stripping goes I would put myself above him Dance wise He's telling the truth

01:51:49 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 2:

Also while we're talking about him I saw this everywhere this morning. Channing is rumored to be working on a remake of Ghost. Do you remember? Did you guys ever see the movie Ghost from way back in the day? It starred Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg and Demi Moore. And in case you're wondering, yes, he may star in the role. Can you remake a movie like that? That's almost been long enough. That movie creeped me out. Remember those black devil goblins that would come? You know right now in Hollywood,

01:52:19 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 5:

good movie. There's big talk about them completely redoing the Harry Potter franchise. I'm like, that's too soon. They want to recast it and redo the books, and I'm like, this generation is too soon. You remember how great they are. It hasn't been enough time yet

01:52:33 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 1:

for that. If I'm 30 and I literally grew up on that series, it's

01:52:37 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 2:

still too soon. Yeah.

01:52:39 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 1:

Wait until I'm 50, okay?

01:52:41 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday, Cardi B back in court for her strip club fight case after failing to start the community service portion of her plea deal she was in a courthouse in queens where the judge gave her until now march 1st to complete her sentence which includes 15 days of community service a rep for the queen's da said cardi was supposed to complete her community service hours by yesterday so far she has done a 0.0 hours and this stems back to that plea deal that she took back in september when she pled guilty to third degree assault and reckless endangerment in that strip club fight both misdemeanors. And President Joe Biden mispronouncing Vice President Kamala Harris's first name during a White House celebration for the NBA champion Golden State Warriors yesterday. Several other

01:53:29 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 1:

members of the California delegation here are also here along with several city and state leaders. But as Kamala said, we're all closely monitoring the storms, the floods, the landsides, all across

01:55:22 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say I was going to say the first time that this is over I literally turned to Mojo and I went Is that what I sound like when we're not on the air?

01:55:31 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 2:

That is exactly what you sound like. Hey, when we come back here next on the Mojo in the Morning show, can you guess what or who is in Megan's favorites on her phone? In just a couple of minutes, which members of the show made it and which ones didn't? And the funny favorite that you have in your phone, which you admitted to all of us this morning. And ever since then, I was thinking, that actually is kind of a smart thing to put in your phone. I never really thought about putting that into my phone. So we'll talk about that. I got to take a break. We've been more than an hour without a commercial interruption, and I got to go to the bathroom. We'll be right back.

01:56:07 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 3:

Ever circled back to your ex and have a workout? Me neither. Put the phone down. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:56:16 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Follow us on Twitter. It's at Mojo in the Morning. mojo in the morning show are you in megan's favorites well we're gonna find out who on the show is and who isn't but also what's the most interesting thing in megan's uh favorites what

01:56:46 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 3:

phone number does she have in there what's going on megan so i don't believe in horoscopes and mainly that's because i'm a cancer and everybody hates me so um i choose not to believe in those But I do think what's more telling about you and your personality is who you have saved and your favorites on your phone. Because these are the people, in case of emergency, somebody opens up your phone and goes, these are their ride or die. These are the closest people to them.

01:57:13 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. You don't have to say yes or no on this, but I'm going to tell you, 419 has many guesses.

01:57:19 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

01:57:20 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 2:

They say your brother.

01:57:22 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:57:23 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 2:

Ellen.

01:57:24 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:57:24 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 2:

Mike.

01:57:25 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Really?

01:57:27 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 2:

And no, Mojo or Spike, they did not make it.

01:57:32 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 3:

Mojo made it.

01:57:33 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 2:

Uh-oh.

01:57:35 - 01:57:36 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:57:36 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:57:38 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 3:

Spike and Shannon did not.

01:57:39 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 1:

Is a deviant little bitch. That's okay.

01:57:41 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 3:

You're not on mine either. I figured. That doesn't surprise me. I'm not acting shocked. Then I will say.

01:57:52 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I got it.

01:57:53 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:57:54 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 1:

Waffle House that you stop at on the way to work in the morning.

01:57:56 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 3:

So not Waffle House, but I do have a dispensary in there. Do you really? Because sometimes I got questions, and I call up my favorite place. On your favorites, though? Oh, on my favorites. Okay, all right, all right, all right, all right. These are my favorite things, right? Like whiskers on kittens, brown paper packages, this dispensary in particular, and their hot security guard. Oh, that one. Favorite things, yeah. Okay. And also, what is actually, one, two, three, four, four, okay, so this is the fourth on my list. It goes, my dad, my brother, my childhood, like, phone number growing up, I can't delete it. It hurts my feelings. And number four on the list is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Stop it. I'm not kidding you. Wow. It's before everybody at work. It's before all of my friends. I like that, though. The Chinese restaurant I order from all of the time. Okay, respect there. Is that it? I made the packages tied up with dreams. These are a few of my favorite things.

01:59:03 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:59:04 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 3:

Chinese restaurants and dispensaries.

01:59:06 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what's funny? My favorites are my will. Basically, anybody that made it in my will has made it into my favorites.

01:59:14 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 3:

My fingers have never been crossed tighter.

01:59:18 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 2:

Ready? Jacob, Chelsea, Joey, Tony Travato, Luke. My sister and brother-in-law, my sister, Pat, and Pat, and ready for this one, I have a dead man in my favorites. I will not take Norm out of my favorites.

01:59:35 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God.

01:59:35 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that the craziest?

01:59:37 - 01:59:37 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:59:37 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 2:

Our agent, Norm, Norm Schrott, died, what, two years ago? It's been over two years?

01:59:43 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 3:

Over two years ago, yeah.

01:59:44 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 2:

I cannot take dead people out of my phone, nor can I take them out of my favorites. Yeah. Those are my favorites. Megan, you did not make my favorites.

01:59:52 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, my feelings are... Wait, am I getting...

01:59:55 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, you just made it in her favorites. Hold on, yeah, Mojo's getting deleted.

02:00:00 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 3:

Mine are my mom, Andrew, both my sisters, my dad, Mojo, my babysitter, Pam, and Wes. Those are all mine.

02:00:08 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 2:

I need to, by the way, take, I just realized this, I need to take Ellen out of my favorites and put KP in there, because I have not updated my favorites. I always have a producer in the favorites.

02:00:15 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys pin texts? Do you have, like, this little section up here?

02:00:19 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 2:

No, what is, how do you pin?

02:00:21 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 3:

Look, see mine? You don't have that?

02:00:22 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, is that what they have to call a pin?

02:00:24 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like, that's what I call it. So how do you do that, by the way?

02:00:27 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 2:

I have three. Three people pinned, but I don't know how to do that.

02:00:32 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 3:

So click on, like, look how I'm doing it. I'm clicking on my friend Ashley. If you hold it down, then it'll say pin, and then it'll go up to the top. Because then you can always just click the picture.

02:00:43 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I kind of like that.

02:00:44 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 3:

Ashley, stop texting me. I love you. You are my favorite. You're just on my favorite list to call because I text you.

02:00:51 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 2:

How do you have people pinned but you don't know how to do it?

02:00:52 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 3:

But you're pinned, Ashley.

02:00:53 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 2:

All right. Are there any, I don't know. I think they pinned by accident or something. I don't know. I never did. But can I ask this question of our listeners? Who has other food items pinned in their phone? Because now that I know that Megan did this, I need to pin, like, Lulu's in my phone. Like, I order from there all the freaking time. I mean, that's the idea.

02:01:13 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

But do you order or do you order? You order.

02:01:16 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 2:

I do a lot of ordering because I'll order on my way home and go pick it up. But that would be a good one to have pinned in there. By the way, Megan, if you're eating Chinese food that much, you know the sodium levels? You've got to be very careful of that.

02:01:28 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how bad it is? They don't even ask for a phone number because usually you go in and you say your phone number and that's how they give you your order. They just recognize my voice.

02:01:36 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 3:

And they know who I am when I walk in. It's the Sex and the City episode with Miranda. Do you know which one I'm talking about? You never watched Sex and the City, did you? Me? Yeah. No.

02:01:45 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 2:

I loved it, yeah. You know what I'm talking about.

02:01:48 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 3:

And she was so offended that they knew her order.

02:01:50 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you the worst is, I hate when restaurants have caller ID and know who you are because that happens to me too. Sushi Samurai does that with me They'll pick up the phone and they'll go Hello Mojo and I go hello What's going on and they know exactly

02:02:06 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 4:

I knew it was bad when she answered the phone She was like no egg rolls this time And I went whoa

02:02:09 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 2:

By the way I'm in a pad thai Craze right now

02:02:15 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 6:

Oh that sounds so good Oh my god now I'm craving that

02:02:18 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 2:

Hi Lisa what's up

02:02:20 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 6:

Hi so I never look at my favorites And I just realized I have Two dead people in a Chinese food restaurant In my favorites And it's not even a Chinese restaurant Because I've moved So it's not even the Chinese restaurant Where I live now I live in Grand Rapids, Ohio And the Chinese restaurant is Panda in Toledo

02:02:40 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 1:

Sounds like you need to spend five minutes on the toilet To update your favorites

02:02:43 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but now I want Pad Thai

02:02:46 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 2:

It's so good Do you get it spicy? I love it spicy The good thing about Pad Thai is You can order Pad Thai like on a Friday after work and you can eat it all the way through until Sunday night because it's just as good. So good.

02:03:04 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 6:

You were talking the other day about weird food you wouldn't have for breakfast. That would make an excellent breakfast. Amen.

02:03:11 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 4:

Cold pad thai. Very delicious.

02:03:14 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh yeah, absolutely.

02:03:15 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 2:

Thanks Lisa.

02:03:17 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 6:

Thanks, have a great day.

02:03:18 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 2:

Take care. Oh, I'm sorry. Whatever we want us to enjoy, we will enjoy. What's up Heather?

02:03:23 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 5:

my dad passed away in 2016 and i cannot delete his contact or the voicemail from him yeah yes

02:03:31 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 2:

my dad's in my phone too have you ever called that number to see who took over that number no but i'm sure someone has it hurt me too much to call i called i called my dad uh my dad's number and a lady answered the phone oh wow did you tell her um i actually said to her i go this is going to sound really weird i'm not trying to sell you anything but you have my dad's old phone number

02:03:54 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 3:

and she knew his name right away because she still got calls oh my gosh so she's nice of her to talk

02:03:59 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 2:

to you she was actually honestly very sweet and she's she said you know he sounds like a great guy and i go oh he was a great guy and i said thank you so much and then you know just ended up uh saying goodbye to her and then bawled my eyes out afterwards i was like just sobbing afterwards and then she said do you like ted uh pad tie i've used it i messed up i got your joke Oh, man. Does it really offend you if somebody doesn't have you in their favorites? No. I think it does some, too. I think you guys are lying. It doesn't offend me. Did it not offend you that Megan didn't have you in there?

02:04:35 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 3:

No, she still hasn't responded to my last text message. There was a time. I'm just kidding. People are like, does this mean that Megan and Shannon aren't friends anymore? Yeah.

02:04:46 - 02:04:47 | Unknown:

Yes, it does.

02:04:47 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

but up until the last operating system you could only have six people in your favorites on your iphone and they've changed that really but so i did i mean i had mojo because i've well i've worked with him the longest but also he's the one if i need to contact the show

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 3:

and say, hey, I'm sick today or something, you're the one I contact.

02:05:03 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 2:

So there's more than six people on this show. I know people, listeners of ours, who were offended that they lost top fan status on Facebook. Because, you know, you get top fan status by how much you interact with us. And so there were listeners that were like, you guys took away my top fan status. And I said, that was Reese.

02:05:22 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Megan just added me to favorite.

02:05:25 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she did?

02:05:27 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm really excited. Now we have to delete you Did you delete anybody out of her? You didn't say not to tell

02:05:34 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 2:

Did you delete anybody to put her in?

02:05:38 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you because I'm not your girl

02:05:40 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Kelly?

02:05:44 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 4:

Hi, yes, I was listening in My husband passed away five years ago And I could not part with his phone for about a year But when I finally did I turned the phone number into one of the iPads that we have so nobody could take it and we still have some voicemails too that we ever so often you know the kids and I will go back and just listen to his voice

02:06:11 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 2:

I love that I love hearing that that is so cool that you do that that you save that

02:06:17 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 4:

yeah just you know from time to time go back and listen to dad

02:06:23 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 2:

and all that stuff, so it's just fun to call in. How are you holding up, by the way?

02:06:30 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 4:

Pretty good. It was very sudden, so unfortunately, you know, it kind of ebbs and flows with emotion, but, yeah, we're doing good. A lot of therapy.

02:06:43 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Was it something that he was battling for a while, or was it sudden and shocking?

02:06:51 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was. you know mental health basically is what i will kind of label it as um so you know medication can only help so much but if you've got those times in your life where you're just you know sad and depressed um it wasn't we didn't see any signs that he was struggling at that moment in time but But he just walked out one day and left us.

02:07:19 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 3:

So sorry to hear that. Remember, anyone listening, if you have any struggles, talk to someone, either a friend, family, loved one, or just text 988. Talk to someone anonymously.

02:07:31 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 2:

We're thinking of you.

02:07:33 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Have a great day, guys. We love you. Take care of yourself.

02:07:38 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, you are on my MySpace topic.

02:07:41 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 1:

How unhealthy was the MySpace topic? But thinking back on that, no, I really, yeah, I think it was such a bad idea.

02:07:49 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was the first thing that gave us anxiety. Yes. Yeah, that was the problem. Coming up here in Moments of the Mojo, the morning show, the strangest tourist attraction that Spike ran into. when he was in California over the weekend. He'll share with us. Also, KP coming in studio, our producer coming in studio. And KP, give me a quick tease of your topic that you've got coming up here in just a second. Let's see how – hold on, I've got to turn your mic up. Hold on. I'm having technical stuff. Go ahead. 02:10:26 - 02:10:27 | Speaker 2:

All right. What kind of mom you have?

02:10:29 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 3:

She's pretty gullible, I'd say. You know, I'm always pranking her or, you know, joking around with her. So I think this will be, I think she'll stay on the phone.

02:10:38 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 1:

I love it. And a little bit of a back story here. You are currently in some trouble for unpaid parking tickets.

02:10:45 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I am.

02:10:47 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 1:

Like there's a warrant out for your arrest because of unpaid parking tickets.

02:10:50 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

02:10:51 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 2:

You can actually have a warrant out for your rest for unpaid parking tickets? Oh, yeah.

02:10:55 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Yep. I paid for the license plate to have the parking ticket or the parking pass on it. And supposedly it does work at the dog beach down in Muskegon. And I take my daughter and my dog out there all the time. And I come back to my truck and I have like six parking tickets every time that I went. So, yeah.

02:11:17 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're going to make your mom think that you're in even more trouble. You ready? Yes. Here we go. Five lies to tell your mom. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I got an officer on my tail. All right. Lie number two.

Five lies to tell your mom

02:17:17 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 3:

I want more Shannon's Dirty coming up in less than 30 Give it some Mojo in the Morning

02:17:26 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 2:

much of the morning spike just went away to california and was vacationing there and you ran across some interesting tourist attractions where did you visit once you do the hollywood

02:17:44 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 1:

thing the touristy stuff there's a million crazy things there and i've been there several times but meg never really had a chance to get down into hollywood and explore anything in california And she's been there for business but never left downtown L.A. So I took her to some of the sites. I said, you know, you've got to show you some of the stuff, you know, where Hollywood, where our entertainment's created. And then on the last day, we said, you know what? We kind of dared each other to find the weirdest Hollywood attraction to visit because we had a free day and it was kind of rainy. So we said, let's find something to do. And so we said, let's each try and find the craziest, weirdest, Hollywood, most Hollywood thing you can think of. So I Googled for a little while, and I was going to take her to Pee Wee Herman's house, like from the movies, his actual house he lived in. And it's actually in the same neighborhood as the Brady Bunch house. So I was like, well, maybe we'll just drive around and see some of these houses that they filmed. I do love stuff like that. Well, she won. She found something even crazier than what I found. She found a Star Wars burlesque show called The Empire Strips Back. And it's a bunch of smoking hot girls Dancing mostly naked And wearing Star Wars costumes So that is just Screams you

02:18:57 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 2:

Aren't Star Wars nerds though Like not into seeing women naked Nerds I would make you think that They would rather just see stormtroopers Running around in their little outfits

02:19:09 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 1:

I don't think that would be the case No okay You're talking about a bunch of hot dancers In Star Wars costumes Taking their clothes off And they love Star Wars And they love women

02:19:21 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 2:

Most Star Wars people that I know You and my son Are the two biggest nerds That are Star Wars fans You guys will see a lightsaber And go technical on us And go I'm sorry but that's not really A real lightsaber That lightsaber belongs to so-and-so

02:19:35 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

So now picture A really hot girl Taking her clothes off While holding and spinning her lightsaber Wow I mean, if you haven't seen Darth Vader stripped to Nicki Minaj, there was a Darth Vader stripping to Nicki Minaj. There was a little person dressed as Yoda breakdancing. I mean, you haven't lived.

02:20:00 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 3:

It was amazing.

02:20:02 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 5:

Everybody say woo.

02:20:09 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 2:

Everybody say woo.

02:20:12 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, that is kind of cool.

02:20:14 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 3:

It was a mixed crowd, men and women, and everybody was so rowdy. It was fun. It was hilarious.

02:20:20 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 1:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Burlesque is not for men. It is for women. It is for us, you guys. So support your local burlesque dancers and artists because that is for us to appreciate.

02:20:32 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 3:

Meg picked it out, and she was so excited to go. I think she was more excited than I was, and it was fun. It was a lot of fun.

02:20:38 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 2:

All right, so you went on a vacation. If you went on a vacation somewhere, what's the craziest place that you've ever gone and visited while you were on a vacation?

02:20:47 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 3:

There's strange tourist attractions in every town. I have a book called Atlas Obscura, and there's a website, too, where you can look up in any neighborhood you're in, you can look up the weirdest things. They're not in the tour guidebooks.

02:20:57 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

I went to, Johnny Dares made me go to the goofiest places.

02:21:01 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I can only imagine.

02:21:02 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 2:

First off, the one place that is amazing, if you want to just go to one place and have it all in one, is that Zach Braff, what is the place? Not Zach Braff, but yes. Or something, whatever it is.

02:21:15 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 3:

House of Horrors in Vegas.

02:21:16 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's basically items from every crazy murder, death, story that was in the news. They buy everything. like they bought the kevorkian death mobile they bought you know um uh gosh i think they even might even have like items from like kennedy's assassination that are there you know stuff like that so that was kind of a cool place but then the the place that he took me to that was awful it was just absolutely awful was the um the porn uh uh place or whatever it's remember that Remember, hold on, I'm going to Google it. I think it's the Porn Museum or the, oh, no, the Adult Toy Museum. Adult Toy Museum in Vegas. So you go in, and it basically has adult toys, like the first adult toy that was ever made, which, by the way.

02:22:11 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the Erotic Heritage Museum. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:22:14 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 2:

And it has the, it looks like something that gynecologist uses to, you know, check out a vagina. And I'm in there going, this is crazy that we're in this place. And then, you know what I hate about museums? I hate when you go into a museum and they don't have the actual item, but they have a picture of the item. Yeah. Well, yeah.

02:22:36 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 1:

Like, why?

02:22:36 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 2:

Like, I want to see the actual item or, you know, whatever. It's the worst because there's also that.

02:22:41 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 1:

I can just go on the internet.

02:22:43 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 2:

The mob museum. You ever go to the Mob Museum? That is also like that.

02:22:47 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, Vegas is famous for all that stuff because the same people go back to Vegas again and again and again, so you get bored and you look for new, outrageous, weird things to do.

02:22:55 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay, so the craziest tourist attraction that you've ever taken people to. I've taken people to a crazy one here in town, the big old Michelin Tire. I've taken family members that wanted to take pictures of that Michelin Tire off of the 94. What's going on, Lou? Is it Lou A?

02:23:13 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 5:

Louie, yes, sir.

02:23:14 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 2:

Is your real name Louie, and you're just calling him up saying it's Louie?

02:23:18 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 5:

No, my name is Louie, and they call me Louie right here.

02:23:23 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, what's going on? What are you calling for?

02:23:26 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 5:

I went to Cyprus in the Greece area, and they were serving laughing gas at the bar.

02:23:34 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Really? What?

02:23:36 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:23:37 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 3:

You're in another country, and someone wants to strap a gas mask on you, and you just go for it.

02:23:42 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 5:

It was crazy, and I went back to Greece, no, actually to Cyprus this year, and they're still doing the same thing.

02:23:53 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of cool.

02:23:54 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 5:

I got to show my wife the whole thing.

02:23:56 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of cool. What's going on, Savannah? Hi. Hi, what's up?

02:24:02 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm just really shocked by you, Mojo. Have you never seen Return of the Jedi? Slave Leia in that bikini? Nerds definitely have sex drives.

02:24:09 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 2:

Right. Really? Are you a Star Wars fanatic? Are you a big fan?

02:24:13 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, absolutely. I actually met Carrie Fisher.

02:24:16 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 2:

You met Carrie? Oh. Whoa.

02:24:18 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing.

02:24:19 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 4:

Mark Hamill, original Chewbacca, Peter Mayhew, all of them. Oh, wow.

02:24:24 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait. Where were you? Were you at a Star Wars convention?

02:24:27 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we actually went to Celebration, and then we also went to, like, Motor City Comic-Con, the local one here at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi. They come down pretty frequently.

02:24:36 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Would you go to a naked convention of Star Wars people?

02:24:42 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Not a naked convention of Star Wars fans, but I definitely want to hit up that burlesque show. It sounds awesome.

02:24:48 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was cool. Okay. Message me before you go because I know a secret speakeasy Star Wars cantina bar right around the corner.

02:24:56 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

You always know the hookups. I definitely will. Thank you so much. Okay.

02:24:59 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

02:25:00 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 2:

i'm late on my on my woes uh here you go all right thank you for the call take care of yourself thanks uh jessica hi where did you visit

02:25:12 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 6:

so we went to key west and one of the bars down there on the third floor it's completely naked oh the garden of eden yeah that is famous like it's all old people it's just like old balls just like swinging around

02:25:29 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, whole balls. Well, it's the same with nude beaches. It's never the people you want to see naked.

02:25:34 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:25:35 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 4:

Ever. It's bad.

02:25:37 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Candy? Did you go visit?

02:25:41 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Sorry, it's a little loud. I'm at work.

02:25:44 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 2:

Gotcha. No worries.

02:25:45 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 4:

I visited Mackinac City before, and they had a mouse museum with different mice dressed up in different outfits and historical events. Really? Wait, why does that remind me of that Steve Carell movie? Dinner for Schmucks I love that movie It was really odd I found it walking around

02:26:08 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 2:

That's funny That town by the way If you can't get out If you get out of that place without buying a stupid t-shirt You know what I mean It looks like

02:26:19 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 5:

If you watched Wednesday this season It looks like that little store in the pilgrim world Where it's all taxidermy animals

02:26:24 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 2:

What's up Dave

02:26:26 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 3:

We go visit my daughter in Missouri And on the way there's a tourist trap Called Uranus

02:26:33 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh boy And what do they do in Uranus Oh you're going to ask

02:26:38 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 3:

It's a tourist trap They do everything in Uranus They pack the fudge in Uranus They got a fudge shop They got soda Everything is around Uranus

02:26:48 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 2:

And that's what the place is called

02:26:50 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 5:

How much did you have to pay to go in Uranus

02:26:53 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 3:

You can walk free in Uranus Walk right through the doors But you know you gotta pay for the fudge that they pack in Uranus And the t-shirts are in Uranus And everything's in Uranus

02:27:03 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing I want to visit this place And again it's in Missouri

02:27:08 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 3:

It's in Missouri on I-40 It's huge They just built another one in Indiana But it is hilarious Because all the sales people are in on it And everything is done in Uranus

02:27:19 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 2:

You know what that's a place you take your child Absolutely

02:27:22 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 5:

It's the same pun for the next 45 minutes of your visit.

02:27:27 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 6:

But it's also Missouri, so it's the only thing to do there.

02:27:31 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 5:

Well, now it's in Indiana because everyone needs to experience Uranus.

02:27:35 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you that the funniest is, you know, we all think that Anthony from Imagine Theater is like the coolest guy in the world, one of the nicest people. He took his family, I think, to Branson, Missouri, because his kids wanted to go there. For what? He told his kids, anywhere you guys want to go in the country. Isn't it in Branson where they have that? But it's like a goofy, it's like a small Midwest Vegas, basically, where they do shows and things like that. Shows and everything. Yeah. What? Yeah, Branson, Missouri. It's a real tourist trap. It's a tour. Like a Titanic museum. Yeah, actually, Megan, when you decide to call radio quits, you should retire in Branson, Missouri.

02:28:11 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 3:

It's probably the only place I can afford.

02:28:14 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 2:

Actually, it's kind of expensive.

02:28:16 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 3:

It's not affordable. It's not affordable.

02:28:17 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's not affordable at all. Yeah, believe it or not. Yeah, because that's where everybody goes on vacations.

02:28:22 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 3:

That means they're going to end up in rural Arkansas.

02:28:26 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 2:

They do. They get concerts all the time. Artists will go to Branson, Missouri because it's kind of known for us.

02:28:31 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 5:

It's just like Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the Smokies. It's just a tourist trap.

02:28:36 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 2:

I think it's even honestly, I think it was like one of the first outside of Vegas where people would start going to. Like all those, you know, theme type of residency type shows. People would start doing residencies out of Vegas.

02:28:50 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:28:53 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

How do you like this? This is a big day because today and right now, Shannon's last Dirty on the 30 being 30.

02:29:05 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

02:29:06 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 2:

Because you are celebrating your birthday. You won't be with us tomorrow, but hold on.

02:29:10 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 1:

Happy birthday to you.

02:29:13 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

President Biden with a birthday.

02:29:14 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 1:

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear darling

02:29:20 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 7:

Happy birthday to you

02:29:24 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 2:

Happy birthday, Shannon

02:29:25 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 5:

So when you come back, it'll be dirty in the 40s

02:29:27 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, it usually is with timing-wise Yeah, true Because I'm running late

02:29:31 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 7:

All right, so Billie Eilish is seeking protection from a guy who's been breaking into her family's home multiple times We talked about this a couple of weeks ago She filed for a temporary restraining order against Christopher Anderson That's her name And his name, excuse me, Billy's dad, says that this guy has shown up to the family home on numerous occasions since December asking to meet Billy. So the police have been called many, many times. Several reports have been filed. And I know that Billy.

02:30:00 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 1:

wrote on her request that this guy's behavior has caused her a whole bunch of anxiety, fear, emotional distress for her own safety, for the safety of her family. And she said she doesn't feel comfortable going to visit her family anymore because she's afraid that this guy might show up. So she is asking that herself, her brother Phineas, and her parents be protected as part of this court order. I've got a new update to the death of Aaron Carter this morning. Remember, he was found dead in his bathtub. Was it back in November? Has it been that long?

02:30:30 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 3:

It was right before our jingle ball. Yes. So it was actually right.

02:30:35 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, his family now says he didn't die from drowning. They believe drugs killed him. Potentially a drug deal gone bad. Aaron's fiance, Melanie Martin, and his mom, Jane, say that the L.A. County coroner's office told them there was no water found in Aaron's lugs, which rules out drowning as a potential cause of death. So the family really is pushing law enforcement to investigate an alleged drug deal that went down the night that Aaron died. Melanie has Aaron's phone now, and she says she found texts with an unidentified person telling Aaron that he owed them $800 for some unknown substance. She says this conversation includes Aaron telling the person, I don't need this, whatever this is anymore, to which the person responded, it didn't matter, he still wanted the money. Melanie says Aaron asked the person if he was being threatened, and that's where the conversation ends. She said when she met with investigators last week, she did submit those text messages over for evidence. So definitely a little update in that case there. The husband of missing Massachusetts mom, Anna Walsh, has finally been charged with her murder three weeks after she vanished on New Year's Day. Brian Walsh already in custody on charges of misleading the police. So much evidence against this guy. I can't believe it took this long. For weeks, police have been piecing together this case against him. Blood found in their basement, a bloody hatchet, really strange Google searches about how to dispose of a body. Friends have now claimed that the couple's marriage has been rocky for a while now. They had been living apart as of late. Anna was also photographed not wearing her wedding ring in some of the final photos taken before she vanished. He is going to appear in court later on this morning.

02:32:20 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 3:

Among everybody that knows him, it doesn't seem like anybody was surprised by his arrest.

02:32:24 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 1:

No. And he's been in trouble in the past with the law. Not for anything like this, but still, he does have a record. Items from Taylor Swift, Eminem, BTS, and Harry Styles are among those going up for auction next month at the Music Cares charity relief auction. Julian's Auctions is doing this one. They just did the Betty White one. It's happening on February 5th, right after the Grammy Awards. And among the memorabilia slated to benefit the organization that helps musicians with financial and medical needs is a pair of Nike Air Max gym shoes from M&M, a guitar belonging to Taylor Swift, and Megan, a Harry Styles black fender electric guitar signed by Harry in gold marker. Can I be honest? I think that's going to go for about four grand.

02:33:11 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 2:

Don't want a guitar. I want one of his jumpsuits that he wore on his Love on Tour. That's what I want. I want a hideous Mix-matched outfit That's what I want

02:33:22 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 3:

I want his wallet I'd like his credit card

02:33:27 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 2:

You know what I really want from him? His time Can I ask you a question?

02:33:32 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 3:

If they auctioned off You could cuddle with him For five minutes Would you cuddle with him for five minutes?

02:33:39 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 2:

No Because I would crush him And that would actually hurt my feelings

02:33:47 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 3:

Squeeze a little too hard.

02:33:48 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 2:

You know what I want to buy? I want to buy a favorite spot in his phone.

02:33:52 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:33:53 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 2:

I want to be under his favorite section.

02:33:55 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:33:55 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 2:

Because then every once in a while, you know he'd accidentally butt dial me.

02:33:59 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That could happen, absolutely, if you're in his phone.

02:34:03 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 1:

I still can't stop listening to Miley Cyrus' new song, Flowers. It's so good. It's so freaking good. It's so good. So, this guy on TikTok, Mr. Wired Up, did a mashup of Bruno Mars' When I Was Your Man, which obviously is the song that we've talked about this. Liam gave her or sent to her after their divorce. And then this song in response to it. And he only did like 15 seconds of it, but it's really good. I'm going to check this out.

02:34:35 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 3:

That's awful.

02:34:38 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 2:

It's the answer.

02:34:39 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 3:

He did a horrible job. Mike, you could do a better job than that. Well, one's a ballad and one's a dance song. I was just going to say the beat. It's the words.

02:34:49 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 1:

It's like the responses.

02:34:50 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 3:

I know, but what he should have done is he should have, I can buy you. And then her flower should have gone.

02:34:56 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you do it?

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

I can't. Hold on. You want me to try it? Like, do it live. I don't know.

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you wanted me to do it live? Yeah. Hold on a second.

02:35:03 - 02:35:04 | Speaker 4:

That would be so difficult.

02:35:05 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. I thought it was fine.

02:35:09 - 02:35:11 | Speaker 5:

The guy's faces and the TikTok driving at you, but...

02:35:11 - 02:35:14 | Speaker 6:

Stand by. Here, you go do the next story.

02:35:14 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 4:

Can we talk about the music video while you're doing that? Can we talk about her wearing Liam's suit? The one where he told her to behave on the red carpet. Can we talk about her filming at the location where he cheated on her with 14 people? Can we talk about the newest rumor where that gold dress she's wearing is supposed to be an homage to the other celebrity on the red carpet wearing a similar dress that she might be saying is the one that Liam cheated on her with. I'm loving all of these rumors on this music video. Swifties, I get it. I get it. I get it.

02:35:46 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 6:

Are you ready or no? Can I do the next story? Do your last story and then I'll do it first.

02:35:50 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 5:

So the BBC's pregame broadcast of Tuesday's soccer match between Wolverhampton and Liverpool was interrupted by what sounds like a woman... Oh, no. A horn? A woman engaging in a sex. Like a team that I think can win the game. I don't think there's enough experience. So they're talking, talking, talking, and then all of a sudden, you hear some noises. Can you hear? Yeah, I checked her down. So the BBC is now apologizing to viewers because so many people... The host later tweeted a picture of a cell phone, by the way, which he said had been taped to the back of the set in an apparent act of sabotage is what happened there.

02:36:37 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 8:

Somebody did it on purpose.

02:36:39 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 6:

All right. I think I might have it here. Hold on a second. Hold on. I might have it here. Hold on. Where does he sing? Just before that. All right. Right before that. All right. Let me get it for you. Okay. Here we go.

02:36:53 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 8:

All right. Is it right before this or no? Yeah. Isn't it towards the beginning of the song?

02:37:01 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 6:

Is it? Well, here you go. Right there, right there, right there. The chorus was coming up right there. All right. I got it. I got it. Ready? Yeah. This is on the fly. This is better than that mashup guy. Mr. Wired Up. Mr. Who?

02:37:13 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 5:

Mr. Wired Up on TikTok.

02:37:15 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. What's the one guy's name? DJ Noodles or whatever that does it from our Z100 studios? Oh, I don't know. The guy that does it. Earworm? Yeah, Earworm.

02:37:25 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, that's not good.

02:37:32 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 6:

Mike, you can do it. I'm telling you.

02:37:34 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 5:

I thought you were going to sing.

02:37:36 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 6:

No, I was going to try to mix it live. That's what I thought you wanted me to do.

02:37:40 - 02:37:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

02:37:40 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 6:

Mike. The guy had it. He was fine with it. He was doing the call and response to show you. I'm giving Mike the challenge right now. Pull out that DJ equipment you got in the basement.

02:37:50 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 5:

I should have bought you flowers. I can buy myself flowers.

02:37:55 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 6:

See, he should have gone with flowers right there. I should have bought you flowers.

02:37:59 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 1:

But you can hear how he's playing the Bruno song. He has to stretch it out so much to fit with what she has. I don't know that it would fit together. I can try it.

02:38:07 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 5:

I should have bought you flowers. I should have bought you flowers. All right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:38:15 - 02:38:17 | Speaker 8:

I need you on my own.

02:38:17 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 7:

Talk to myself for hours. With the heads that she thinks you don't. Good morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes. Oh, man. You were the side chick. And he cheated on you, too? What a guy. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:38:39 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 6:

Time now for a phone scam on Mojo in the Morning. Kim wants us to scam Amy at their front desk. Spike is going to see if they can squeeze a last-minute appointment in for their dog, for his dog. But this is not a dog rumor. It's a hair salon for humans. We're going to have fun with a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

02:39:00 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 7:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

02:39:14 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, Salon.

02:39:16 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. Who's speaking, please?

02:39:18 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 3:

This is Amy.

02:39:19 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 8:

Hi, Amy. is this the place that does the pedia cures and the manicutials, manicuticals? Yes, we do. I just need to make an appointment for Mr. Alfred Julesbury-Wagglesworth.

02:39:30 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Is this the first time he's coming in?

02:39:32 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 8:

It is.

02:39:34 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 2:

If you want, I have an appointment for Friday. Otherwise, we could take you possibly to the walk-in tomorrow, but we won't be able to do the cut, just his nails.

02:39:44 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 8:

Oh, definitely we would not be doing any walking in. Here's the thing. He passed away last night.

02:39:51 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm sorry, sir, but we don't offer services to those that have already passed away.

02:39:58 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 8:

Oh, he's not.

02:40:01 - 02:40:03 | Speaker 5:

He's not deceased, or he is?

02:40:03 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 2:

No, he is. I mean, he's not a person.

02:40:06 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 5:

I'm confused.

02:40:07 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 2:

And I'm Pisces. See, he's a quirky poo. He's part Yorkie, part Corgi, and a little bit of poodle.

02:40:17 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 5:

So you're trying to make an appointment for your dead dog?

02:40:21 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 2:

Are you good with the doggy style?

02:40:24 - 02:40:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry, sir. He's not just any dog.

02:40:26 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 2:

He's a show dog. He won the prettiest dog contest four times, and he passed on before this weekend's big showing, and we were all very sad. And we had already registered for her, so we would like to get him groomed in a jiffy so that we can still put him on display.

02:40:43 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 5:

I've just never heard of this sort of thing.

02:40:45 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 2:

I accept your deepest sympathy and heartfelt thoughts at this time of sorrow. So can I get an appointment?

02:40:51 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 5:

No, sir. I'm sorry we don't offer that.

02:40:53 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 2:

All I'm asking is the comfort of an appointment will be our strength now and in the days ahead as we return our poor dog to meet his maker.

02:41:02 - 02:41:07 | Speaker 5:

Sir, I'm very sorry for your loss, but I will have to recommend that you call a grooming salon.

02:41:07 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 2:

I've been trying to, you know, floof his fur out a bit and get him going, but, you know, I'm afraid to go down around his privates with a scissor.

02:41:14 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry, sir. We don't offer that here. It's very unhygienic. We can't offer that kind of service to you.

02:41:20 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 2:

But it's not. He can't possibly wet himself. He'll stay still. He'll behave. You understand?

02:41:26 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 5:

I understand, sir.

02:41:27 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. You are a blessing. I appreciate you understanding. So when's our appointment?

02:41:32 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry, sir. We can't take you.

02:41:35 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 2:

This loss has really torn us up. We did the same thing with our last two dogs, Chewbarka and Mary Puppins. And we'll probably do it for Puggy Smalls, the notorious D.O.G. okay well have you heard of chewbarka i have not he is the only yorkapu in the state who can play checkers he can beat any 12th grader good good luck to you okay but did you ask kimberly if

02:43:11 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Wait, I offered to buy all of you guys Starbucks on my way in.

02:43:15 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 3:

But that's how we're doing birthdays right now on the show from now on. But somebody who.

02:43:20 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 2:

It was Shannon's idea and then she didn't even follow through.

02:43:23 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Who is this from? First off, happy birthday to you.

02:43:29 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 2:

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear.

02:43:35 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 3:

Happy birthday to you. Who's this from so Mike doesn't get mad at me? Yeah, who's it from? Who did this?

02:43:43 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm not taking credit, actually. Who's it from? Christine's Cakes and Patients.

02:43:47 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Oh, because Shannon has the endorsement with that. The best. Mike, get an endorsement with a birthday company, and you get a birthday. Go ahead, blow out those candles before it goes. They made Shannon-faced cookies.

02:44:02 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 2:

Take a bite of Shannon.

02:44:04 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 1:

That is so cool.

02:44:05 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 3:

Blow out the candles before the wax gets on and all that.

02:44:07 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 1:

And I don't have an endorsement with them, and that's the best birthday cake I ever had was from them. Oh, it's so good. They are so good. Thank you, Stacey. Thank you, guys.

02:44:15 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 3:

That is amazing. Mike, I had nothing to do with this, Mike. I want you to know I had nothing to do with this.

02:44:21 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 2:

Mike, do you want us to mail you a Shannon cookie? Yes, please. Oh, my gosh, that is really funny.

02:44:25 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 3:

I want a Shannon cookie for my birthday. That's what I want. Mike, if you want, I'll, let me see here. What client do I have here that might be able to help you out? Maybe I can get Majestic Beds to give you a bed to sleep on that night or something. I don't know.

02:44:40 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live.

02:44:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 3:

Coming up before we leave at 10.30, it's Wings Wednesdays. We will have a chance for you to win tickets to go see the Wings take on the San Jose. say sharks you know the wings are doing college nights where they're honoring colleges and universities from all over our listening area and they are honoring in this one and i think this is pretty damn cool macomb community college you know what come on shout out to mcc give them a little bit of love please and uh they have wings you know hats shirts all kinds of stuff where they collaborate with you so they can do michigan and michigan state but they got to do macomb community college occ oak uh you know oakland community college lansing community college lcc and then central michigan university put them all in the same vein right there we go all right it is mojo in the morning show all right kp come on in what's going on kp

02:45:57 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 1:

hi okay so um by the way down bad i'm gonna have to explain and what this what this phrase means so if you look it up down bad means horny and desperate and i'm gonna go ahead and say right now i'm not well i'm one of those but you're horny you're just not desperate yes is down bad

02:46:19 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 3:

on urban dictionary listed as that is that exactly what the urban dictionary says it is but i would

02:46:24 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 1:

say that it's mostly used for guys but in the girl version down bad would be like um you want a guy and i see a lot of girls who will do these crazy bizarre things to like for these guys that are not their boyfriend like they'll go pick up their dry cleaning or their it says here just to show

02:46:43 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 3:

that like yeah it says down bad when someone is desperately horny that's not what i'm doing in

02:46:50 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 1:

this situation but i would say down bad is like just would do anything because you have a crush that's my version sorry it's funny to be like down bad yeah it's like him saying like no riz or something like that um ask him to define that yeah mojo what does having no riz no riz uh don't

02:47:10 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 3:

google don't no riz is uh it usually happens to to me when my hair grows long it's where it kind of like poofs out a little bit on the side i got a little bit no riz uh no no not even closer

02:47:22 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 1:

what's what's no riz no riz means that you have no game so if you have like riz you got mad riz it means you got okay you can flirt basically short for charisma yeah yeah very good oh look at that the retired f boy um honestly i'm looking for he shots fire i know hey i'm not the one who's

02:47:41 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 2:

down who's down bad let me hear you let's go for 10 minutes define it and try and dance around out and say she's not down bad.

02:47:48 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 1:

I am down bad. I'm going to say I'm down bad. KP, shots fired means that that came out of nowhere and was unnecessary. You know what? F boys have not a special place in my heart because they are a virus to the earth. Anyway, so this is the situation here with the down bad KP. There's this guy that I went on a date with over the summer. He's so cute. And he ended up moving to a different state to be a wrangler. Okay. Like a cowboy? Like a cowboy. That's like my dream. Are you kidding me? What a surprise. It's your type. Yes. I managed to find the only boy in this area who is a cowboy, a freaking cowboy. And he moves. But I did meet his sister.

02:48:29 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 3:

Did he move because there's not a lot of other cowboys? Yes. He wants to be a cowboy.

02:48:34 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 1:

Not a lot of cowboy work here. Arizona. Oh, my God. Yeah. But the problem, so he goes, two weeks before he leaves, he goes, I really want to take you on a date. Let's go. And so I went, and knowing that he was going to leave, but we still went out, and he ended up meeting my grandparents on that first night. And he's the only guy within the past, like, three years that I've met any of my relatives. Wow. And my grandparents are a lot of them.

02:48:56 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 2:

You wanted him to ride you like a Bronco, didn't you?

02:48:58 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. But my grandparents, they love him. They will not stop talking about him, blah, blah, blah. I went out yesterday for drinks with a friend for his birthday, and his sister was there. Like, the cowboy sister was there, and her son. And the reason I say I'm down bad is because I played with that child for two hours. I was the babysitter at the party for that child. You took one for the team.

02:49:23 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 3:

You did it to make him like you more?

02:49:27 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 1:

No, he wasn't even there to see it. I'm literally playing with his child. I'm like, I'm not. I'm the oldest of six. I'm good with kids. But I would never at a party and out at a bar watch someone's child for free. You're just hoping it gets back to him. Is that what it is? I don't know, but the kid doesn't know how to say my name correctly. He's like, Cape, Cape, Cape.

02:49:47 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 3:

What did his sister say to you? Was she appreciative of the fact that she didn't have to watch her kid that time?

02:49:51 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 1:

I think so. I mean.

02:49:52 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 3:

Quick question for you. Does Cowboy Boy know what down bad means?

02:49:55 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 1:

Probably.

02:49:56 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Yeah. Seriously?

02:49:57 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

Yes. He knows what that means, probably. Okay.

02:50:00 - 02:50:20 | Speaker 3:

Does he know that you feel this way? Probably. Normally, if someone's down bad, the other person can feel it. Why didn't you go visit him instead of going to New York over the holiday? Because I am an anti-boy phase right now. Oh, that makes sense. There it is. Sure. That makes total sense. Yeah. I had more fun in New York.

02:50:20 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it interesting, though, how when you are really feeling it for somebody, you'll do things that you normally would not do?

02:50:27 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but this is a bad investment because this probably won't even get bad. back to him like he doesn't care oh I bet you the sister says something with his nephew yeah the

02:50:34 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 1:

sister's gonna the sister's gonna say oh my god I love her she's cute and she's great with kids because that's what uh you know ends up happening when I met Chelsea I actually started like her she had a little brother and I would who's probably about the same age as what your little brother is right now and I I would take him with me to things I would do stuff with him I hate the I couldn't stand the kid

02:50:56 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 2:

But that was right there under her nose This guy's already with his Arizona girlfriend He doesn't care anymore What's happening back in Michigan

02:51:04 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 3:

This kid had me Hopping on the floor like a frog That was the kind of games We were playing at this bar

02:51:12 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny is I watch Yellowstone And it reminds me of this kid It reminds me of what's the kid's name on Yellowstone That moves down to the Ranch down in Texas

02:51:24 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 2:

And moves away

02:51:26 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 1:

That's what this guy reminds me of Because he had to leave and go to Jimmy, reminds me of Jimmy So your guy is Jimmy And he left And now he's with a girl like Jimmy is with a girl

02:51:39 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 3:

I didn't like that part because he ends up Picking some other girl Don't manifest that in my life please

02:51:45 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 1:

You're the ranch hoe No That's what Jimmy left So question for you

02:51:53 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 2:

He met you, and then he moved three time zones away. I'm thinking he's not interested.

02:51:57 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 3:

You think? Well, he still texts me, so that's something. I think it was just bad timing. I agree.

02:52:02 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 1:

Question for you. That's the type of guy that you have. Do we have any guys in our listening area right now that are cowboys? I mean, come on. I can't believe this. This is what she's looking for. And I know you're on the wrong formatted station. I bet you if we were on 99.5 instead of 95.5 in Detroit, you'd probably have a few more of those guys. Although, I think these guys might be right. A cowboy from Michigan or Ohio is different than a cowboy out west.

02:52:33 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 3:

No, it's not the kind of cowboy you want. It's a fake cowboy. It's a wannabe, a dimeback shirt cowboy.

02:52:40 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 1:

Hillbilly.

02:52:41 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 3:

Hillbilly, yes. Yes.

02:52:43 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 1:

Actually, yeah. From Port Huron, right?

02:52:47 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

02:52:47 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 1:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh now every guy that's interested in kp is gonna be you know

02:52:57 - 02:53:02 | Speaker 2:

every m&m wannabe is gonna go out and buy a flannel shirt you you should call you should

02:53:02 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 1:

call us up and tell us what was your down bad moment like what what did you do that was your down bad moment like kp taking care of this kid i saw a girl on tiktok make this guy that she was

02:53:12 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 3:

seeing for how many weeks three weeks a chicken a roasted chicken she was making this man I'm like are you kidding me I can't even put together you know you know food groups for my own dinner and she's making this man a rotisserie not rotisserie but just a chicken with lemon and thyme and all

02:53:31 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 2:

this oh yeah remember Ellen had that chicken the engagement chicken is what women call that right The engagement chicken is that, by the way. But Ellen had the mac and cheese. That's right.

02:53:42 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 1:

So KP, a way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

02:53:47 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:53:47 - 02:53:49 | Speaker 1:

So that's what you got to do.

02:53:50 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 3:

Also, KP, do you not season your chicken? Because you were kind of acting like it was ridiculous that the chicken was seasoned. What? There's time on there? There was salt? You put salt on it? It was wild. I mean, honestly, I just put stuff in my stomach just to make me continue to function at that point in my 20s. Do you cook?

02:54:04 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 1:

Are you domesticated in the kitchen?

02:54:08 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 3:

I believe I can cook. I'm just extremely impatient. So I don't cook, period. Yeah.

02:54:13 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever made anything for a boy in your life?

02:54:18 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I have.

02:54:19 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 1:

What'd you make?

02:54:20 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 3:

We had fettuccine Alfredo with a salad with like this avocado dressing that I made. It was pretty good.

02:54:26 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 1:

And you made it all? Your mom made it and you picked it up and heated it up?

02:54:28 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 3:

No, I made it and actually I made him make it with me. Wow. I was too impatient to do it all myself. So I made him a meal and he helped me make it

02:54:36 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 1:

That's good Because my wife is not a cook And her mom was a big cook And it's funny because Sometimes it skips a generation Your mom's a cook, right? And she loves doing it

02:54:47 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

My brother Adam, he's a really good cook Really good Does he season his chicken? Yeah, he does I'm just saying, with all that stuff The time and the lemon kind of.

02:55:00 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 5:

It's just, like, that's a lot of work. Like, you're making this guy a meal, and it's got all of the stuff. It's like, what is his name? Gordon Ramsay? Like, that's too special. No! Girl, what are you eating? Is that why you don't enjoy food? You don't season it? Let me tell you about the world of enjoyment. I sit here, and I wonder why I, like, wow, why does my food suck?

02:55:23 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 4:

Makes you wonder what was in her fettuccine alfredo now, doesn't it?

02:55:26 - 02:55:27 | Unknown:

Right.

02:55:27 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 2:

I got to read some of these texts because these texts are too good. I like this one right here that says, 734 says, I'm on Amazon right now looking for a cowboy wardrobe for KP. Another person here, this is another texter, 734, also different number though, says, KP is a buckle bunny. I've never heard that before. It's from the show.

02:55:50 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 5:

It's from the show. It is from the show, and I'm not a buckle bunny. I'm not a barrel racer either.

02:55:55 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 4:

810 Let's count how many times she's been to Faster Horses

02:55:59 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 5:

That does not matter If the boot fits is what I should have said

02:56:03 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 2:

810 says I'm from Yale and there are definitely real cowboys in Yale

02:56:11 - 02:56:13 | Speaker 5:

Yale University?

02:56:13 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 2:

No, Yale Michigan

02:56:14 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second, that's kind of weird

02:56:17 - 02:56:18 | Speaker 2:

What are you wrangling out there?

02:56:18 - 02:56:20 | Speaker 4:

Deer and meth heads

02:56:20 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 2:

That's the beauty by the way of our show being You know, over the course of, you know, northwest Ohio and then, of course, the metro Detroit area and Grand Rapids and Muskegon that we've got to have a cowboy out there somewhere for you.

02:56:37 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 5:

There has to be somebody somewhere.

02:56:39 - 02:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:56:39 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 5:

I don't know.

02:56:41 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Lydia said that she got the Yale person on. Maybe Yale does have a lot of cowboys and we can get that. Find out if there are any single ones that are out there. Nicole, are there any single cowboys in Yale?

02:56:52 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure there are. I mean, you get some people who are also M&M wannabes, but we're out in the boondocks. There's lots of cowboys.

02:57:01 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 4:

Lots of cowboys in Yale? Like, what are you going to go to the rodeo over next door in Nimlay City? Like, I mean, it's not like you're in there.

02:57:09 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 2:

I know that Summit Place Kia has a dealership out there, but I'm telling you, Luke or Joe would play basketball out there, and there was definitely, those boys were big boys that he was playing basketball against. And it was wild because while Joe was changing his clothes and going back into his, like, sweatsuits and stuff, some of those guys would go into Wrangler Jeans and stuff.

02:57:31 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 3:

No, they were. Finley City is a city to us. Yeah. It is country out here.

02:57:37 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Jessica, what's happening?

02:57:40 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:57:40 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 2:

Hi. We're the Cowboys.

02:57:43 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 3:

KB, you've got to come to Howell. Okay.

02:57:45 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 5:

I don't know where that is because I'm directionally impaired.

02:57:48 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 2:

You don't know where Howell is going? you are from you're from lake orion and i know and i know howl is not next door to lake orion but do you actually where do you travel to okay name the name all the cities that you've traveled from work with assistance for my gps all right so you're born and raised in lake orion you know lake orion name name five cities in our listening area oh my god no go ahead come on lake orion

02:58:15 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 5:

All right. Rochester, Sterling Heights, McComb, and Shelby Township.

02:58:23 - 02:58:23 | Speaker 2:

Very nice.

02:58:23 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. I'm not dumb, guys.

02:58:25 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 2:

Now, name five cities in our listening area that are 30 minutes or more from your house.

02:58:30 - 02:58:34 | Speaker 5:

Nope. Don't know because I don't look at maps. No clue. No. You don't know more, KP.

02:58:35 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 2:

You don't know more. Sorry. I know. All right. So here's the deal, though. This is good. Guess what? She hasn't found her cowboy yet because their cowboy is not close to Lake Orion.

02:58:42 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 5:

This is why I need a cowboy. They have a company.

02:58:44 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 2:

You need to find her the cowboy, Jessica. Go around Lake Howell and find us a Howell cowboy.

02:58:51 - 02:58:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I will send them your way. They are all over, and they are hot. Let me just tell you.

02:58:56 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 1:

There's got to be some in Michigan, because we have one of the biggest country stations in the country in West Michigan.

02:59:02 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 5:

That doesn't mean cowboys. Oh, yeah, it sure does. It equates to cowboys.

02:59:06 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 1:

If I've learned anything in my life.

02:59:09 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 5:

I don't think they're listening to Sam Hunt, to be honest.

02:59:11 - 02:59:22 | Speaker 2:

We've got a lot of guys that drive pickup trucks. I know that. We sell more pickup trucks here. Actually, second most outside of Texas. Where did you meet this cowboy?

02:59:22 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 5:

Where did I meet him? Well, through my friend. He was home just for a couple months because he had just got back from another ranch in a different state. Oh, okay.

02:59:30 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 4:

He was just blowing through town on his horse.

02:59:34 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 5:

He's from Royal Oak. And he's just saying that's just what he's doing right now.

02:59:37 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 2:

You know, we did a story last week in the Dirty on the 30 about how more people are becoming city cowboys.

02:59:45 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 4:

Suburbanites.

02:59:45 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they're going out and buying all that stuff that they see on Yellowstone.

02:59:50 - 02:59:53 | Speaker 5:

That's like a fashion trend right now, actually. It is. Really trendy.

02:59:53 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yeah. I can dress like Luke Skywalker doesn't make me a Jedi. I mean, that's a costume. That's not a lifestyle.

03:00:00 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 1:

Don't judge. You go to Star Wars conventions like we learned.

03:00:05 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I don't think I'm a space traveler. I mean, these guys wear a hat and boots so they think they're a cowboy?

03:00:13 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 1:

TV shows do this to you all the time. Remember, it was friends that made every girl go out and get that Rachel haircut. I did. TV shows turn you into certain things, you know? Rachel, everybody wanted to get the Rachel. Yellowstone turns you into cowboys. Star Wars turns Spike into a Jedi. It works out like that Did you guys ever go do something Because a TV show did it Like did you guys ever have that That happened Jersey Shore made me do a lot Did it

03:00:41 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 4:

Wait you're joking obviously He gym tanned and laundered Every day No I did And remember like God this is 20 years ago The younger audience won't remember But swing dancing was a big thing For like three years Do you remember that From what show It was No it was every band on the radio Was coming room What was the big one that did that There was Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies.

03:01:03 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm talking TV shows, though.

03:01:04 - 03:01:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, I'm just saying, like, it became a big trend, and everybody in Pontiac, there was all these clubs you could go to to swing dance.

03:01:11 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 1:

I remember watching, I used to watch with Joey, Hawaii Five-0, and I almost went out and bought a Camaro because Dano had a Camaro on Hawaii Five-0. But TV shows will make you dress a certain way, too.

03:01:23 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 2:

I mean, TV shows were, you know, influencing before Instagram and TikTok were influencing.

03:01:28 - 03:02:32 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. 90 Day Fiance has made me want to go and find a wife from Venezuela. It's unbelievable. Hey, you want to win tickets to go to a Red Wings game? It is Red Wings Wednesday. It's going to be the 95th caller right now at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. You'll win tickets to see the San Jose Charks take on the Red Wings. And it's college night, Macomb Community College. all right top training stories can you guys guess this is like a little one of those uh monday morning mind benders or blaine's brain buster um can you guys guess the exact time the precise time that is the least productive time in offices across the world so researchers claim that they have found the precise time that staff from companies are the least productive.

03:02:32 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to say 3 p.m.

03:02:33 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 1:

3 p.m.? Shannon?

03:02:35 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say the hour before they go home. So I would say 4, 4 to 5.

03:02:40 - 03:02:47 | Speaker 1:

No. Megan? 2.30. No. We're getting good, though?

03:02:47 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you know what? Our biggest time on social media that people check out Mojo in the morning is 1 o'clock as soon as they get back from work. So, I mean, from lunch. So is it 1 o'clock?

03:02:56 - 03:03:32 | Speaker 1:

From a peak at 10.22 a.m., they hit their first slump at 1.27 p.m., followed by another one at 2.06. A study found that employees felt tired three times on average during a workday with spending too much time on their computer and not enough breaks in between. And the researchers did a little study on finding out when you are the least productive And it's usually at that time Between 1.27 and 2.06 time

03:03:32 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 4:

Makes sense because your stomach is also full So you start to zone out a little bit

03:03:36 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 1:

Although I've got to be honest with you 10.22 in the morning I walk in the office here sometimes People just get here and they're looking for breakfast Or looking for, you know Hey, what are we going to do for lunch? Many couples would pick a vacation over engagement ring It's another story that we talked about But this one's coming out from Sandals Resorts I love that Sandals Resorts released a study that said that 72% of people would rather go on the honeymoon Than go out and get an engagement ring Now if I do a study tomorrow And the study tomorrow is from a diamond company From Lucido Fine Jewelry says that 90% of people buy engagement rings But we talked about this on the air, and we had a conversation where we asked the question, like, do you want an engagement ring? And I actually thought it was a pretty good split of how many people said that they would not want the engagement ring to how many people said, no, I still want the ring. I still want to put the ring on. Speaking of that, you're going to Paris. That was my thing for Paris. I know how to say Paris in France and French. Are we going to get a ring in Paris? When I say we, are all of us on the show going to be, are we going to get engaged over in Paris? What are your thoughts?

03:04:49 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I don't, I don't, I don't think so.

03:04:53 - 03:04:54 | Speaker 1:

Question for you, though.

03:04:54 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Look how she's all ready with the manicure and the spray tan. Look it, there is no manicure. Do you GPS stuff?

03:05:00 - 03:05:37 | Speaker 2:

follow uh west do you have you noticed that he's been over at lucido fine jewelry doing any shopping or have you been there to fit any rings or anything no can i hook you up to a lie detector test no for sure no oh hold on i love it um real quick though if you guys do it you got to get like a really good picture when the uh eiffel tower does the twinkle at night oh okay it does the little uh twinkle thing shannon's going to paris by the way shannon's birthday is tomorrow happy birthday. Thank you. Thank you. Turn the big 4-0. I still can't believe it. She's leaving. She's always you said you always wanted to have

03:05:37 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 3:

a birthday in Paris. It is my dream to spend my 40th birthday in Paris. Yes. I've been dreaming about this for so long. I'm so excited. You know what's funny?

03:05:45 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 2:

My dream always was to have a birthday party at the Gibraltar Trade Center. They knocked that sucker down. Well, my last birthday

03:05:51 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 3:

dream was Chuck E. Cheese. It was actually showbiz pizza at the time. So this is many

03:05:55 - 03:06:02 | Speaker 2:

many years later. All right. So let's Should we put odds on that, Reese? That might be a good poll. Should we? I feel bad for Wes. What are the odds?

03:06:02 - 03:06:03 | Speaker 3:

So many people are asking him.

03:06:04 - 03:06:40 | Speaker 2:

I tell you, Wes, don't do it. It's too cliche. Get engaged here in town. In how? No. Somewhere that... No, Paris is always a... Paris is like... Paris is for lovers. So my niece just got engaged, and she told my now soon-to-be nephew-in-law, she told him when they went to Paris on a vacation, If you propose to me in Paris, I'll be pissed So he proposed to her when they went on a morning walk And did a morning walk proposal Instead Because she said she did not want that But I don't know Propose whichever way you want, Reese Just make her an honest woman

03:06:40 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 1:

Or I'm sorry, Wes I was going to say, I'm not going to Paris Wow, oh lord If you were going to propose Where would you propose? Not in Paris I don't think I could afford that But maybe in the parking lot behind the studio.

03:06:58 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Back by the dumpster.

03:07:00 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 2:

A study says that women suck at one particular aspect of online dating. Can you guys guess what that is?

03:07:08 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 3:

Initiating the conversation.

03:07:10 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 2:

No.

03:07:11 - 03:07:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Scheduling an actual time to meet.

03:07:14 - 03:07:20 | Speaker 2:

No. According to a study, women suck at grammar and online dating.

03:07:20 - 03:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, read the men's messages.

03:07:22 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 2:

The dating app, The Grade, surveyed 3,000 of its users, and they found that women are not great at their spelling and actually will misspell, have grammar mistakes, use slang in the wrong way, or use sexually explicit content in a bad way. And they say that sometimes it comes off a little bad to the people that they're trying to hit on. This is another funny story. A woman doesn't want any of her guests that come to her house to use toilet paper. So if you're a guest in her house, this woman took to TikTok and said, you have to use her bidet. She actually has a bidet. She went on TikTok and she admitted on TikTok that she does not have in her house tissues, napkins, paper towels, or even toilet paper in an attempt to spend less money. She claims that the Switch has saved her thousands of dollars and has actually kept her cleaner than ever. And she said that it is a good thing because there's no chemicals, and there's a lot of chemicals, she says, in toilet paper. If you guys went to a person's house, would you be okay with only using the bidet and not having toilet paper?

03:08:44 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what's wrong with a bidet? I would still want to use toilet paper. Dry yourself off? I'll be honest with you. I don't think I've ever used a bidet. Maybe I have. You're going to.

03:08:55 - 03:08:56 | Speaker 2:

You're going to Paris, aren't you?

03:08:57 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 3:

Are there bidets there? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Okay. Well, there's a purse for everything. I might not come back with an engagement ring. I will come back with a very clean booty. But I would still feel wet. Don't you still have to use toilet paper?

03:09:12 - 03:09:23 | Speaker 4:

So you can't flush in Paris. They have the bidet. They do have toilet paper for other things if you have a bigger mess. But you're supposed to put it in the trash can next to the toilet.

03:09:23 - 03:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

03:09:24 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 4:

Or next to the bidet.

03:09:25 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 2:

It's wild because...

03:09:26 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm saying, don't you have a bidet at home, Mojo? Or not a bidet, but the attachment to do that?

03:09:29 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 2:

I have a thing on top of my toilet that's called a washlet.

03:09:33 - 03:09:36 | Speaker 3:

Pressure hose? Use it all the time.

03:09:36 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I used to use wet wipes all the time. Which, by the way, wet wipes are also great, but I'm not using them anymore. But I do use a piece of toilet paper to dry my butt.

03:09:48 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Right.

03:09:48 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 2:

I pat it dry.

03:09:49 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:09:50 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 2:

afterwards.

03:09:51 - 03:09:53 | Speaker 3:

But if you wait there for a second, will it dry on its own?

03:09:54 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 2:

If you do sit there for a little bit, yes. It will air dry. But I will tell you this, Shannon, did you bring...

03:10:00 - 03:10:02 | Speaker 5:

special outlets for going to

03:10:02 - 03:10:03 | Speaker 1:

Paris? Wes said he has that covered.

03:10:03 - 03:10:21 | Speaker 5:

That was a big thing. We went to London and Paris years ago and didn't have the outlets or the things to transform your outlet stuff in the outlets that you can use there. Real quick, Michaela, you're the winner. Congratulations. Red Wings Wednesdays, you got the tickets.

03:10:22 - 03:10:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh my gosh.

03:10:24 - 03:10:24 | Speaker 5:

Enjoy, okay?

03:10:25 - 03:10:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, thank you.

03:10:27 - 03:10:39 | Speaker 5:

And because Shannon is not here tomorrow, Kool-Aid Lady is on the phone with us right now. Oh, my gosh. And she would like to sing you a special birthday song for your birthday. Kool-Aid Lady, hello.

03:10:40 - 03:10:41 | Unknown:

Hey, hey, hey.

03:10:41 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 5:

What's up, man? How are you?

03:10:43 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 7:

Good morning.

03:10:44 - 03:10:50 | Speaker 5:

Kool-Aid Lady, let's hear it. Let's hear what you got. I heard it's a special song you've been writing now for the last year.

03:10:50 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, check it out, man. Let me blow this bad boy up, man.

03:10:57 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 5:

Here we go. She's plugging in her keyboard. She's plugging that in.

03:11:00 - 03:11:13 | Speaker 7:

It's a long intro

03:11:13 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 5:

This is perfect for DJs

03:11:14 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 1:

She's hooking it up still

03:11:15 - 03:11:18 | Speaker 3:

She's been on hold for an hour Waiting to do this

03:11:18 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 2:

There it is

03:11:24 - 03:11:34 | Speaker 6:

She's got

03:11:34 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 5:

Like the Kool-Aid lady singers Like background vocals

03:11:38 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 6:

What a beautiful song

03:11:59 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 5:

Kool-Aid lady That's beautiful

03:12:01 - 03:12:03 | Speaker 4:

That was just as good As I thought it would be

03:12:03 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 5:

Nice Hot ding, look at that thing

03:12:14 - 03:12:16 | Speaker 4:

03:12:16 - 03:12:27 | Speaker 5:

03:12:27 - 03:12:43 | Speaker 7:

She doesn't need to now, nothing can top that song I was playing around with something I said, man, we're going to have some fun with this monkey biter, right? And I said, shoot, I said, wow, I can make my own birthday song and party like a booger booger in a rat hole. Oh, I love it.

03:12:43 - 03:12:45 | Speaker 1:

It was a true monkey biter.

03:12:46 - 03:12:49 | Speaker 5:

Love you, Kool-Aid lady. Take care.

03:12:49 - 03:12:52 | Speaker 7:

Because my birthday is at the end of this month. Oh, that's right.

03:12:52 - 03:13:07 | Speaker 5:

I got to write a song. And it's the week of Mike's birthday, too, so we have to celebrate it. My birthday's not until next month. Oh, I'm just sure. Kool-Aid lady, have a great one. Shannon, safe travels. Happy birthday. We will see you tomorrow. Bye.
