good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show how are you it's a thursday war of the roses today and a guy suspecting that his girlfriend is cheating things have been kind of weird between the two of them and she has been having communication with her ex-boyfriend now listen there are some people that can be friends with exes and then there are others that shouldn't This does not sound like one that they should be saying hello or even touching private parts. You'll hear a War of the Roses three-way call, which we haven't done in a while. And I'm going to tell you, always interesting to see how people talk to each other when they don't know that their significant others are listening in on the phone line or a bunch of people from a radio station. So you're going to hear that coming up in less than an hour from now. Stick around for The War of the Roses. We've got phone scams on the way. We've got good prizes today. More tickets to go see Taylor Swift, plus our big show starring.

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 3:

future and then we'll have a chance for you to win ten thousand dollars in free groceries with our mojo's grocery grab brought to you by kroger stores in detroit and toledo all right it's uh mojo in the morning show so mike it was the first time that you've ever had to do this

00:05:19 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 2:

yeah have you guys ever had to turn down a babysitter like just say no this isn't gonna work so like basically not allow them to babysit yeah yeah yeah yeah i had uh we needed a babysitter the other day and we went through and asked my mom and asked ally's mom and they couldn't do it but then they suggested somebody else to do it and this person from what i know uh about them is just not like the best at taking care of themselves in general which is fine i'm not judging. I'm not judging. I'm not judging

00:05:51 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 3:

at all. Sounds like you're judging. The best at taking care of themselves, let alone taking care of your children. Right, right.

00:05:57 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 2:

And it's not just little things. Like, they chose, they made a decision to not wear a coat during, like, that snowstorm and shovel a driveway just because they were too stubborn to wear a coat and literally got sick and, like, almost frostbite because they made this decision. And I'm not exaggerating. Like, skin was coming off of the or yeah skin was coming off of their body oh man and they're like and they just did it like there was no reason there was no they just didn't want to do it so they want to put

00:06:27 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

a coat on so let me just get back up for one second so you asked people the babysit couldn't find it and somebody said oh i'll recommend this person uh and so this person as soon as you heard that you're like yeah that's the person that almost got frostbite by uh being outside without a code on so that was that was the one are they have they also had other things that that in their past that would make them maybe not the most responsible or or smart person uh it just it just

00:06:56 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

feels as though like they're they're still like in that phase of their life and everybody's there at some point but they're still in that phase of their life where they're like i'm gonna do this because i want to do this not because this is a smart choice to do okay do you know what i mean like i'm gonna stay out or stay up for three days in in party or or do whatever because this is just what i want to do and like they have no other like they have no other responsibilities that you know they're not hurting anybody how as far as like watching my kid how old are they are they just a young are they young are they close to their 30s oh gosh yeah so they know better they

00:07:33 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 3:

yes yeah yeah yeah because i still because i'm always i'm always amazed i'm always amazed at how much more mature sometimes our babysitters that we've had that are like 16 years old are than friends of mine who are 40 you know like maybe that my friends who are 40 need a babysitter just to watch over them to protect them from uh from any harm and it's such an awkward conversation

00:07:57 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

to have like because they were right there when we were having this conversation and i'm like no well you know what we're gonna uh you know i think we'll i think my cousin i just made something up at the time i think my cousin might do it or something like that it's like you've already

00:08:11 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

declared that you've gotten down to the second third and fourth tier of choices and can't find anybody and then you're like no no no but not you yeah right you know what's you know it's funny and

00:08:21 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

by the way you should call us up and you should tell us you know about that person the the grown person who you would never allow to you know to do anything adult you'd never allow them to babysit your children or whatever uh and and why it is that they are probably not responsible enough because they you know they can't take care of themselves but i feel like we all know someone

00:08:42 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

like we all have friends that are like like still in that stage where they don't have like huge responsibilities so but they can still take care of themselves when it comes to having to take care of themselves you know what i mean this person cannot take care of themselves at all i'm

00:08:57 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 3:

not gonna lie i was worried when megan got a dog i was like okay wait a second she's gonna this whole conversation is very pointed

00:09:05 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 2:

that's the thing I would trust you to watch my kids because you know how to be responsible when it's time to be responsible if it was cold outside you wouldn't go I'm not going to put a coat on because I just don't want to because I'm an almost 30 year old person who just doesn't want to put a coat on

00:09:22 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

I know some people though that don't ever wear coats not to derail the topic that you're bringing up right now but there are some people that are just non-coat Like, I don't know what the story is with teenage boys that don't want to wear coats.

00:09:35 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's all teenagers. Is it? My daughter will never wear a coat.

00:09:38 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't get, my son will, will leave the house in what is like the coldest weather we could possibly have. And he'll not have a coat at all. And I'm like, you understand that you do have to walk from the parking lot at school to your, you know, your school. Right. He's like, well, I don't know. I don't like where I have to put the coat.

00:09:55 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Then I have to carry it.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Walking to the locker is too far.

00:10:00 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Okay, walking to your car is very cold, but 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. It's funny, and I'm going to grab the calls here in just a second, so Candy, hang on one second. I remember, and I won't say what relative it was, but there was a relative of Chelsea and I's, I don't know if that's how you properly say it, I's, who, she was one of our, she was an aunt, I'll just say it that way, who babysat one time for us and we thought oh this is great she's awesome she'll babysit and i'm not kidding you it was like we came home and the kids were like juggling knives you know what i mean and you go how did this person survive so far till they're like 50s you

00:10:43 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 3:

know yeah yeah and what do you do do you say do you do you yell at them when you get home or do you just kind of go all right well they're still alive it was bad because it was on chelsea it was

00:10:51 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 4:

a relative on chelsea's side so chelsea had to handle it and then chelsea called her mom up And her mom, you know, was like, maybe she was having a bad day. Well, don't have a bad day with my kids. Candy?

00:11:04 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you're going to show them like Edward Scissorhands then? That's right. Show them that movie?

00:11:09 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's exactly what she was doing in the house. What's going on? What do you think about this with Mike where Mike cut off the girl or guy? He didn't say who they were.

00:11:21 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

Doesn't even matter. I'm 37, okay, and I got a niece and a nephew. Eight and five. One is my goddaughter. And I've never. One time, my nephew was four. And I watched him alone. But after that, I never. And my cousin, every time he said no, it's just like, I just need to get away from her. Or she needs to get away from him. And I'm like, what is wrong with me? I'm like, why do these kids have been me?

00:11:50 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so they just skip right over you. Yeah, why would they not choose you, Candy, to watch their kids? What makes you irresponsible?

00:11:59 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I bring them, like, water guns and stuff. Because I don't play with the kids. Like, don't play with auntie. Don't play with me, right? Yeah. But other than that.

00:12:09 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 4:

You're not a get on the floor and get physical and have fun. You're like, I'm watching TV.

00:12:16 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm opposite. We shut off the TV. No iPads. We get outside. We're shooting the water guns. We're doing it on the play set. That doesn't sound bad

00:12:27 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 3:

She's strict Don't play with auntie

00:12:31 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm old school I was born in 85 Question Candy

00:12:38 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 4:

Have any children been harmed In the making of you babysitting

00:12:41 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 2:

Describe harm

00:12:44 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 4:

By the way Mike's looking for a babysitter You might be more responsible Than the no coat person

00:12:53 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 2:

My answer is I didn't have to show them Edwards with a hand. So, like, no babies were supposed to have a knife in hand. Yeah. I mean, kids are kids, right? Like, they're supposed to get hurt and bumps and bruises. Yeah. But you fall down, get up, and keep it moving. You know what I mean? Like, that's how we had to do it. In 85, like, we couldn't watch. We watched TGIF, like, Family Matters. That was the only every Friday for us.

00:13:16 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I love those. Family Matters, That's So Raven. All those shows were good.

00:13:21 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes. And it was literally four hours a week, not four hours every single day. So when Auntie Ea comes over, no, we're going outside. We're doing something.

00:13:32 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 4:

Man, Mike, she might be a good babysitter for you. I know. She does sound great.

00:13:35 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm not a good babysitter.

00:13:37 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 4:

Actually, you'd be – Yeah, take care of it.

00:13:39 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad because there's no – these kids, I took them out sledding last year, and they're like, I don't want to go outside. It's cold. Okay, that's what they make snowshoots for, their scarves.

00:13:48 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Thank you, Candy, for the call. What's up, Ashley?

00:13:52 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 1:

um i was just calling because when my son was young he's going to be 11 now but he's probably around two or three um i had left to go get diapers and i let my dad watch him and once i came home i picked my son up and i smoked something and i was like well that smells disgusting it was burnt hair and he had lit his hair on fire and he had also lit our puppy on fire and it was kind of like a quick stinge i guess and this was while grandpa was watching oh yes my dad was in charge for all of maybe seven minutes he lit them on fire i can't think

00:14:30 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 5:

of a much worse thing that they could do to a child yeah and i didn't even realize it at first

00:14:34 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 1:

because i picked him up i was like yeah you don't smell right and then i went to go pet the dog and

00:14:38 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 5:

it was all brillo patty his fur did your son say how it happened was it a cigarette yeah he went

00:14:44 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

yeah he went into uncle cody's room and he had found a lighter and it was like a lighter that was like shaped like something fun i guess that a kid shouldn't have and so he was playing with it and then realized that he had singed his hair and then he tried to singe the dog as well

00:15:00 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. I remember coming home one time after my brother babysat our kids, and the kids, both of them, Joe and Jacob, were in diapers still, and you could literally see the diapers hanging off of them because there was so much urine in the diapers. And my brother was like, oh, yeah, I didn't tell you. I don't change diapers.

00:15:18 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 4:

It's like.

00:15:19 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 5:

That's not how that works. Probably should have done that. So did you find a babysitter, or are you still looking for one, Mike?

00:15:28 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 9:

I think we have one, but we're going to have. It's one of those situations where we have to move. We have a babysitter for like two or three hours, and then we have to move it to another babysitter. And I don't care. It's still better than a crossbite babysitter.

00:15:38 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 5:

That's a good point. Just get somebody there. Get a pulse, right? We have a good show for you today. Lots of good prizes. Your chance to win Taylor Swift tickets within 15 minutes.

00:15:52 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 8:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, And you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:00 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 5:

Kim and Kanye tied the knot in this year. It was in Florence, Italy. Do you remember that?

00:16:05 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 2:

Rob ended up not getting on the plane from Paris to Florence. And he got on a flight all the way back to Los Angeles. I just can't believe he's going to miss Kim's wedding.

00:16:14 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Rob Kardashian missed it. This was the year when comedian Joan Rivers passed away after complaining about the throat surgery that she had. She had complications. And her daughter, Melissa, later sued for medical malpractice.

00:16:28 - 00:16:33 | Speaker 10:

In my opinion, it was 100% preventable.

00:16:34 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 4:

What could they have done right off the bat to prevent this?

00:16:37 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 10:

How about having a properly equipped crash cart?

00:16:40 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 5:

And the big song, Jason Derulo, Talk Dirty. What year was it? We'll set you up with tickets to go to WWE SmackDown.

00:16:49 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 7:

Good luck. Talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. Who's wearing the pants in this relationship? Sounds like somebody wasn't wearing pants at all. War of the Roses, coming up at 7. On Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning. Back in the day. What year was this?

00:17:14 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 5:

Kim and Kanye got married. Remember, Rob didn't go.

00:17:16 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 2:

Rob ended up not getting on the plane from Paris to Florence. And he got on a flight all the way back to Los Angeles.

00:17:24 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 5:

Joan Rivers passed away, and she died after what many suspect to be the throat surgery that she had. Her daughter, Melissa, sued for malpractice.

00:17:34 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 10:

In my opinion, it was 100% preventable.

00:17:39 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 4:

What could they have done right off the bat to prevent this?

00:17:42 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 10:

How about having a properly equipped crash cart?

00:17:45 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 5:

And Talk Dirty to Me was the big song, or Talk Dirty, from Jason Derulo and 2 Chainz. Dean, what year was that? It was. Congratulations. What gave it away?

00:18:00 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 6:

Well, that's the year my future wife became unavailable.

00:18:05 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 5:

There you go. You know what, though? She's now available for you.

00:18:09 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. Well, we'll see about that. I don't know.

00:18:12 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:18:14 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 3:

Congrats.

00:18:15 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 6:

I didn't believe I got through twice today on you guys.

00:18:17 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 3:

You did? Wait a second. How did you get through twice? Because I haven't talked to you yet.

00:18:21 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 6:

I called about telling him to quit tipping the oil change guy. Oh, geez, man, you're putting it back.

00:18:26 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yeah, going back a day or two.

00:18:28 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. All right. I was going to say it today. By the way, the days do run into each other, don't they? Dean, we're setting you up with the prize. You got WWE SmackDown tickets, so enjoy. You'll be going tomorrow, okay?

00:18:40 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 6:

All right, bet. I'm so happy. Thank you.

00:18:42 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 5:

Have a great time. Taylor Swift tickets, we've got those for you. your chance right now to win and don't fall for any kind of scams. We're going to talk about those this morning and talk about Ticketmaster this morning, but this one's good. Text to win Taylor. Text SWIFT to 95500. That's SWIFT. Text to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply from now until the show. We will be giving you a chance to win tickets. Good luck.

00:19:11 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:14 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 5:

Today's Shannon's birthday, but she's celebrating by taking Today and the rest of the week off So Megan is going to be filling in for her And what do you got in this hour's dirty?

00:19:23 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm very jealous of Kim Kardashian today Because her jewelry collection Is expanding And she got her hands on this very cool piece She just bought the super famous Diamond cross necklace That was worn by the people's princess A.K.A. Princess Diana, thank you for participating Thank you

00:19:41 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 5:

I didn't know if you wanted me to tell you

00:19:45 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, she bought it on Wednesday at the Sotheby's auction, which, by the way, there's a great documentary on them. You should go check it out. I believe it's on HBO. She paid a very minimal $197,453. Wow, that seems like nothing.

00:19:59 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 8:

That seems low.

00:20:00 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 1:

It actually is very low for what the piece they thought it was going to go for. But I think for her, that's like half hour of work. One Instagram post. Right. What is that? The necklace is actually named the Adela Cross. She wore it to a charity gala back in the 80s. She had paired it with this very iconic like black and purple velvet dress with this huge collar that made her look like the queen. It was like a viral photograph back in the 80s. What did we call that? Just popular in a newspaper? Probably. This is not her first time getting some jewelry from a famous lady. She also owns pieces that belong to Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie O, and I think it's very funny because she doesn't wear jewelry in public now since the robbery in Paris, or nothing that's real, at least. So interesting that she's kind of building this collection, and we're probably not going to see these pieces again.

00:20:50 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 2:

So it'll be just in a jewelry box or a safe.

00:20:53 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 1:

I'm guessing it's in a safe somewhere.

00:20:55 - 00:21:00 | Speaker 2:

Do you think she has one of those little kid jewelry boxes that you open it up and it makes noises, makes music?

00:21:01 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't know, but looking at how white her house is, when you see her kids' rooms, they're shocking. North's room is pink from top to bottom, and every time she films in there on Instagram, I'm like, oh my God, it's a bottle of Pepto-Bismol. So Boy Meets World, one of the most iconic shows from the 90s, one of my absolute favorites. Well, Ben Savage, a.k.a. Corey Matthews from Boy Meets World, did you know that he's running for a seat in Congress? So, yes, if Representative Adam Schiff makes a run for Senator Dianne Feinstein's seat, then he's actually going to run for the open seat. He officially filed the paperwork to show his interest for running for California's 30th district. It's going to include parts of L.A. that he is going to represent. He actually ran for L.A. City Council, I believe, last year. He lost that race. He came in sixth, but now he's going for a bigger seat. Yeah. If you're wondering, like, what is he doing running for office? I didn't know this, but he actually interned for Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania while studying at Stanford.

00:21:59 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow.

00:22:00 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 1:

So he has a little bit of experience.

00:22:02 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 3:

I mean, Topanga's first lady, I will vote. I know.

00:22:06 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 1:

I would vote for Topanga's hair, let's be honest. Let's be honest. Stephen A. Smith knows very little about fan bases, a lot about sports, little about fan bases, because he was on the Sherry Show yesterday, and I think he had a little bit of, like, foot-in-mouth syndrome because he said that although Rihanna's going to do the halftime show and she's great, she's no Beyonce. And Rihanna's fans lost their mind over this. He was absolutely grilled online for hours to the point where he had to put out a public apology.

00:22:42 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 2:

Rihanna, go do your thing. I apologize for creating whatever brouhaha comes of this. I gotta be more careful When people twist it and turn it into something It ain't My bad on that

00:22:56 - 00:23:00 | Speaker 1:

Why is he talking at this apology like he's working for a 900 phone number?

00:23:00 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 3:

That's how he always talks, yeah

00:23:02 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 1:

I did Rihanna, what? I was here for it

00:23:07 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 3:

They're coming after me I have to say I'm sorry

00:23:11 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 1:

And also like, Beyonce is great and so is Rihanna I don't know what his point was

00:23:15 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Is the beehive that crazy? Rihanna's Navy is crazy too

00:23:22 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 3:

But I didn't hear the initial Statement he made What he said was that Unless you're going to say it What he said was Is that Rihanna It's going to be hard to compare to Rihanna Bruno Mars and Coldplay's performance together And that's what she has to go off again I don't know It wasn't like a direct shot at her

00:23:44 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 2:

We always kind of Talk about all these Halftime performances And talk about how bad Some of them are And which ones we like So I don't know

00:23:53 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 1:

What was the last Like bad one?

00:23:56 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 2:

The last bad one? I don't know The who was pretty bad I didn't No I didn't like Shakira and J-Lo That was great

00:24:03 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh Maybe

00:24:05 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 2:

And last year What was Last year was Who was it That did No, that was good The year before that, was that Shakira and J-Lo?

00:24:15 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 1:

No, because it was Lady Gaga

00:24:16 - 00:24:17 | Speaker 2:

I don't know

00:24:17 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 1:

There's been quite a few good ones

00:24:19 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, let's look at the halftime performances I didn't think Adam Levine's was that great Oh, agreed No, that was bad

00:24:24 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Agreed, definitely agreed

00:24:26 - 00:24:29 | Speaker 2:

Halftime show Super Bowls

00:24:29 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, the rumor is that Rihanna hasn't really rehearsed much for this And she hasn't been on stage in six years

00:24:34 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 2:

Um, alright

00:24:36 - 00:24:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm scared, I have confidence in her

00:24:38 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 1:

She could literally just sit on stage and not even sing And I would be like, give her a Grammy

00:24:42 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Here we go, here were the last ones Okay, so it was back in 19 It was Travis Scott, Maroon 5 Big Boy from OutKast 2020 was Shakira J

00:25:00 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 1:

J-Lo, J-Belvin, and then 2021, The Weeknd. That wasn't that great.

00:25:07 - 00:25:07 | Speaker 2:

Lies.

00:25:08 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 1:

That was kind of boring.

00:25:09 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 2:

That was phenomenal.

00:25:11 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 1:

It was boring. Last year's was great. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar.

00:25:16 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 2:

That was pretty good. That was pretty good.

00:25:18 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 1:

Rihanna's got a lot of songs, but let's see what happens. I don't know.

00:25:21 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 4:

Maroon 5 was probably the worst in the last 10, 20 years.

00:25:25 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 2:

That was a good call, Mike. That was a very good call.

00:25:27 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 1:

Do you think there's other people that are going to be in it with Rihanna?

00:25:30 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 2:

I think A$AP Rocky is going to show up.

00:25:33 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, who cares? It's got to be Drake. It's got to be like Drake. It's got to be Eminem. It's got to be all the people that did a lot of those things.

00:25:40 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 2:

But Eminem did it last year.

00:25:42 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 1:

I know. Eminem's not going to do it. I heard confirmed from one of his very, very good people.

00:25:47 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 4:

She's saying she's not bringing up guests.

00:25:49 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 2:

Who knows? I bet Drake. I bet it's going to be Drake. A Senate committee is going to hold a hearing later this month to investigate a lack of competition in the ticketing industry. Now the hearing is scheduled for January 24th, so that's coming up next week. Comes just two months after Ticketmaster's chaotic rollout of pre-sale tickets for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour, which prevented so many fans from getting tickets. They've been accused of price fixing and antitrust violations. The hearing will focus on how the consolidated ticketing industry harms both consumers and the artists. Consumers have faced really high fees, long waits, website failures, And this has been going on for too long, so says Congress. It's estimated that Ticketmaster controls 70% of the market for ticketing and live events here in the U.S. Live Nation is defending themselves, saying, we're just filling the gap, guys. There's no competition. That's how they sound to me.

00:26:44 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Later this morning, there's a lot of Detroiters that are getting scammed out of tickets right now. And we'll have that story for you coming up in Trending News this morning.

00:26:52 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 2:

And then Amanda Bynes, is she making her return? Okay, my little 90s heart is screaming for this Boy Meets World and this All That drama happening right now. Because Amanda Bynes stepped out of the spotlight for quite a while. She got some help. And now she's returning to a 90s con where she's going to be joining up with cast members from All That. And now her lawyer is teasing this probably isn't going to be the last that we see of her. Wouldn't be surprised if she gets back into acting because she's such a great actress, says her lawyer. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 655. This is Mojo in the Mornings live.

00:38:14 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 1:

We're going to do the War of the Roses. If you suspect that the person that you're in a relationship with is cheating on you, you can text cheater to 95500 to get on the Mojo in the Morning Show War of the Roses. Text cheater to 95500. Be on a future show. We've got a couple different ways that we can do this. We can call up and offer them a dozen free roses, see where they're going to send it to. or if you have a phone number on somebody that you maybe suspect is cheating with your significant other, we'll do what we're about to do right now, which is a three-way call.

00:38:49 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 5:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:55 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 1:

Taylor thinks that his girlfriend is cheating on him, and it's been because she's been acting weird towards you?

00:39:01 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's right.

00:39:03 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 1:

What's the deal? What do you mean by acting weird?

00:39:05 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 2:

Started off with just some fighting and arguing and stuff. And it's lasted for a little longer than, you know, usual, like a couple weeks. And there's this other stuff, too, you know, that you kind of notice.

00:39:17 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Is the fighting happening because of something in your relationship? Like, is there a strain in your relationship, or why do you guys think you're fighting?

00:39:24 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 2:

No, you know, that's the thing. I don't really know why. That's one of the reasons why I think something's up. Like, there's no real reason. At first, I thought, like, you know, whatever. This is just, you know, she's cranky because it's her time of the month or whatever. And then it just kept going.

00:39:42 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 3:

You said there was some other stuff. What's the other stuff you noticed?

00:39:45 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, she had been talking to her ex-boyfriend. Why? Like the number. I don't know. The number would pop up every once in a while and see it.

00:40:00 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 3:

you know and then i bring it up you know what would she say when you brought it up she was just like oh there's a friend of theirs a mutual friend of theirs that was having some

00:40:10 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 1:

trouble and they wanted to talk about it i think it's interesting that you said in the email that you sent to us you said that you think that she is purposely fighting with you because she doesn't have the guts to break up with you and you think that she's cheating with her ex So you think that she's causing fights just to get you to not be into her anymore?

00:40:32 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 3:

I think she's just kind of provoking me and kind of pushing me so that I'll be the one to break up with her. Because, you know, for whatever reason, she doesn't want to, she doesn't have the guts. Or she is just, you know, doesn't want to tell people like, oh, I broke up with him. But she wants to be, oh, he broke up with me type of stuff. Okay.

00:40:54 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 1:

We have the ex's phone number, and we have her phone number. We're going to do a three-way call right now. It's a Mojo in the Morning three-way War of the Roses where we call both of them at the same time to see how they talk to each other. Hang on. Do not say a word, okay?

00:41:08 - 00:41:08 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:41:23 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hello? Hey. Hey. Hey, what are you doing?

00:41:38 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

00:41:39 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey.

00:41:42 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Why are you acting weird? What's going on?

00:41:44 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 2:

Nothing. What are you doing?

00:41:47 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 3:

I'm just waking up. That's one, right?

00:41:49 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 2:

I can't hear you. God, I hate your cell phone.

00:41:53 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 3:

All right. Hang on. I'm outside. Is this better?

00:42:01 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 2:

A little bit. What are you doing at home? Are you going to work today?

00:42:09 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Jamie, I'm here. You called me.

00:42:12 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 2:

Are you going to work today?

00:42:14 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm staying home. Jamie called. They canceled work.

00:42:19 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 2:

So should I come over?

00:42:22 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:42:23 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 2:

all right well I got to go to my mom's because um cable the Comcast people are coming and she's got to do some errands and stuff so I got to go there all right you want me to come over there instead well no she'll freak out if she finds out about us Samantha how do you think Taylor

00:42:45 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 1:

is going to feel about you getting back together with Bobby but yet not telling him Who the f*** is this? This is the Mojo and the Morning Show, and Taylor is on the phone with us right now listening to your conversation with Bobby.

00:43:00 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. What's up, Samantha? Thanks a lot for f***ing being honest with me.

00:43:10 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's because you say s*** like that

00:43:13 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 4:

that I can't be honest with you. It's because you are s*** like that. That's why I say it, Samantha. Do you understand? You could have told me the truth. I harassed you.

00:43:24 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 1:

Taylor, hold on. Taylor. Let's take a step back. Samantha. We lost both of them. Taylor, I get you're upset by this, and I get you're pissed off, and, you know, but.

00:43:40 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 3:

But I think he's got all the information he needs. Right. You're not going to listen to her excuses, are you?

00:43:45 - 00:43:45 | Unknown:

No.

00:43:46 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 1:

Whatever. Let me take you off the air We gotta talk a little bit off the air So I'm not having to bleep the crap out of this Ha ha Busted again It's your home for War of the Roses

00:44:03 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning

00:44:05 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of War of the Roses Mojo Mojo in the Morning mojo on the morning show busted a cheater just a little bit ago with a mojo on the morning three-way call war of the roses so taylor had suspicion that his girlfriend samantha was cheating on him how long have you guys been in a relationship like two years almost coming up on two years and when was last time that she was with uh this other guy this bobby guy

00:44:47 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 3:

i mean she told me you know like about a month before we started dating so you know

00:44:56 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 1:

and why two months ago why is he such a bad guy why is it that Her family doesn't like him. Well, he's not the... Well, you f*** it. Watch it if you can. No more swearing at all, okay? I know you're upset, but we're not going to be able to talk on the air. Why is he a bad guy?

00:45:16 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 4:

He was just reeling the drugs for a while, you know? He was pretty abusive verbally and physically once with her. And, you know, he just kind of borrows money all the time. And he was just a real scumbag, you know, he's just a real kid. Sorry, a real jerk.

00:45:33 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, all right. All right, I want to go a couple places with this. First, I wanted to ask a quick question to anybody that is in a relationship where their significant others are still involved with their ex, like where they're still talking. um who thinks that their significant other is still having feelings for their ex and that bothers them that worries them or plain and simple maybe the more drastic who thinks that their significant other is fooling around with their ex or you know doing other stuff with their ex uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i'm glad we got a chance to do a three-way call war of the roses I feel like listeners haven't had an opportunity to hear one in some time. And it's interesting because it's really the way that we are able to catch, you know, wives, girlfriends cheating. The flowers, you know, and who you want to send them to doesn't necessarily always, you know, add up. I mean, the conversations are always interesting to listen to, aren't they? I mean, when you're sitting back and just listening to them having a conversation with each other and talking about.

00:46:50 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to work today?

00:46:52 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm staying home. Jamie called. I can't forget.

00:46:57 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 3:

So should I come over?

00:47:00 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:47:02 - 00:47:03 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:47:04 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 1:

I mean, you read into it pretty much everything, but, I mean, that one I think was more than just reading into it. I think there was something going on, yeah.

00:47:13 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 5:

It's a little more blatant.

00:47:15 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 1:

I would love to do a three-way on my wife where I just called. Hey, now. Somebody's going to take that statement out of context. Another topic. No, I would love to have a conversation, have her listen to her conversation with somebody and to hear them talking about me. Like, I would like to know, like, what is actually said.

00:47:37 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 5:

You know what they say about eavesdroppers? Yes. You ever hear anything that you want to hear? But also, Chelsea is the kind of woman, like, your wife will tell you anything to your face.

00:47:45 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 1:

It's true.

00:47:46 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 5:

You can be like, Chelsea, how do you feel right now? And she'll be very blunt and honest.

00:47:50 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 1:

I asked Chelsea yesterday to tell me the things that most annoy her of me. Why are you? No, because there was a study that was a trending story. And maybe I'll reveal it later this morning because it was kind of interesting. But, Jessie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning, War of the Roses. What did you want to say?

00:48:09 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. I just wanted to say a lot of times when you guys do the War of the Roses and it's the husband cheating, we're always saying, oh, women, we should trust our guts. you know um trust your intuition but i think as humans like our intuition is there for a reason and we should listen to it you know it's if he was feeling like something was off like trust that

00:48:30 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 1:

you know yeah no i agree absolutely if something doesn't seem right it doesn't seem right there's something wrong with uh with that relationship if you know she's starting to pull away or they're fighting for stupid reasons madison what's going on right there good morning good morning how you doing Madison I hate the when I have to hear this but this actually listening to it made you start

00:48:54 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

thinking about your situation and this happened to you yeah so um like three years ago I got out of my past relationship because I would be going out and he would try like stalking me and i was like i gotta leave so finally ended up leaving and he kept trying to like come back in my life but when we were together he we lived with my sister and it was just he kept reaching out to my sister too and she kept feeling bad for him so i'm like okay i don't understand why you keep talking to him because of what he put me through and I know we live with each other but stop talking to him so a couple months ago um he texted me off like a texting app and I knew it wasn't a real number and I'm like um who is it and he wouldn't tell me who it is

00:50:00 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 6:

Because he was like, do you already know? And she ended up getting a girlfriend with the same name, blonde hair, blue eyes, and did the same thing. I'm like, okay, this is weird. So she reached out to me a couple times, like, how do I leave? And after the last incident we had with each other, she told him, I'm done. I'm going to get a restraining order.

00:50:30 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

against you and she's back with him so i don't understand why girls do that so much i i get that it's a comfort but like when all of the signs are there why why choose to go back into an unhealthy situation i also think it's super weird that he was texting you from one of those fake numbers guys who do that clearly prove their immaturity well and they also prove that they're cheating

00:50:54 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 1:

they're they're doing something they shouldn't do if they have one of those

00:50:57 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 4:

you know no true uh asia what's up hi mojo hi all right yeah i wanted to piggyback on it because that situation just happened uh um happened to me about an ex and it was somebody that he had to deal with um his baby mom actually so what happened so

00:51:18 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 1:

so were you so you were in a relationship with this guy some time ago and then what happened

00:51:25 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 4:

um this was recent this was i literally broke up with him in december and so i was in a relationship with him and uh for a year and a half and i had suspicions of him going back to his baby mom because he was just too like clingy to her like he wouldn't i don't know how to explain explain it but he kept on just telling her what we were going going through and relying on her for advice and everything and i'm like you don't do that like although she's the mother of your child she's

00:51:58 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 1:

another woman in my eyes you know what i'm saying yes so so so that suspicion led to you then

00:52:06 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 4:

what busting him what happened no i literally you know i literally stayed with him and then i found out that because he sent me uh uh uh through facebook a picture of him and her in

00:52:21 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 1:

the bed together. Oh, my God. Why would he... Why did he do that?

00:52:28 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 4:

She did it.

00:52:29 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she did that. Okay. Did she know about

00:52:31 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 4:

you? Yeah, she knew about me. I was in a relationship. I was watching the kid, and I was...

00:52:37 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Wait. They had you... Wait a second. They had you watch their child while they were fooling around with each other.

00:52:45 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. Not when they were fooling around with each other, but I've been around the child because me and him lived together.

00:52:51 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, because when you said that, yeah, you were watching the kid, and then you got that. That's craziness. Well, a lot of times you see that where it's like the person that you were in a relationship with, you have children together, and then you have ties, and that's why you end up going back because of the relationship of the kids, and it kind of causes a bond together. This obviously is a situation that's not even that. But I would love to have Samantha's family call up to tell us their reaction to now knowing that Samantha is still with her ex, who obviously they don't like. Ruby, what's up?

00:53:27 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, guys.

00:53:28 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Morning.

00:53:30 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. So I had a similar situation, exactly, literally what just happened with Taylor. So I met my then boyfriend, my ex, now in the police academy. he was just about to graduate and I was just coming in so I was he was a senior I was in the baby class you know his class was about to get sworn in they were about to get their badge um we started dating he went off to be a police officer they graduated I still had a couple months of training lab and he would always tell me a story of how rough the academy was for him and how I made it so easy for him and how I helped him get through it because of his abusive ex like she was verbally abusive to him and how she wouldn't trust him or let him go out with his friends and she was constantly houndering him and i was like wow okay so he had a pretty you know difficult time with this person that he was dating um and he kept always this was the first red flag that i guess i didn't notice he would always talk badly about her he would always bring her up no matter what anywhere we go dates um you know shooting range stuff like that oh my ex this my ex that you know and i never paid much second thought and then and then what happened so what happened was um i was graduating in october um mind you he already got sworn in in uh in march so i was just about to graduate and i go on instagram and i found out from his friend's instagram he was in a tagged picture Thank you.

00:55:00 - 00:55:01 | Speaker 1:

With his hand around her waist.

00:55:01 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Okay. So they were still together.

00:55:05 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was working hard in the academy. Oh, no.

00:55:08 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 5:

Are you guys both cops now?

00:55:11 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's on the SWAT team, and I'm a patrol officer.

00:55:14 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 5:

For the same department?

00:55:16 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 1:

For the same department.

00:55:17 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's got to be tough. You actually work with your ex. That's awful. And you guys have guns. That would be great. Wow.

00:55:24 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 1:

I see him everywhere, and, you know, if I'm being honest with you, Even though it's been a while, Mojo, it still kind of hurts.

00:55:30 - 00:55:36 | Speaker 5:

I bet. Wait, are you guys, is he still with that other person with his ex?

00:55:36 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 1:

He's, you know, she ended up cheating on him, actually, so you see how karma works.

00:55:40 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 5:

Has he, yeah, has he tried to come back to you when that happened or no?

00:55:44 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 1:

Every single time we are on a ride or we end up meeting somewhere, he tries to say something to me, and I'm just like, yeah, no.

00:55:52 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, stay strong. Thank you for what you do. Appreciate it. We've got a lot of long storytellers this morning. I got to be honest with you. KP, as the producer of the show, wrangle these people in. Tell them. Say, get right to the point. Tell them. Seriously. We can't. I can't take it any longer. We don't have a whole beer to hear this story. Pretend we have a minute in the lobby. They trust you with their hearts. Listen, I get it. But guess what? I got a bad heart. And now they're making a little heart on me. The problem is we only grabbed three phone calls in that segment, and we've literally took a 20-minute segment, basically. Three calls. I usually can grab, like, 20 calls.

00:56:35 - 00:56:37 | Speaker 4:

It's way too nice when it comes to picking up the calls.

00:56:37 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, KP, come on. Get rough with these guys. Tell them that they got to get right to the point. They don't get right to the point. They don't do it within five seconds. They get in trouble.

00:56:47 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 4:

Get to the point with me.

00:56:48 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, tell them. They do get to the point with you? Come on. There's no way that they're getting right to the point with you. I'm telling you, if they're getting, if they're like telling, that first caller, I'm telling you that I heard what color the grass was. I heard, you know, the sky was blue. You're a pain in my ass. Well, let me tell you a story real quick.

00:57:09 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 4:

No, no, you're the guy.

00:57:10 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 3:

That was five.

00:57:12 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 4:

It's a short story. Yeah.

00:57:16 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 3:

No joining mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:57:18 - 00:57:39 | Speaker 5:

All right. Shannon is out this morning. Happy birthday to Shannon, by the way. in another beautiful place. She's in another continent. Ooh, big word. In Paris, France. I don't know which continent it is. Europe. Is it Europe? Okay, great. But Megan is in our continent.

00:57:40 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 2:

Comma, unfortunately, period.

00:57:42 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 5:

And she's got the dirty on the 30. What's going on?

00:57:44 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 2:

The question today is, did Antonio Brown post revenge porn of his ex on Snapchat? Because it's looking like he did. He's currently denying responsibility for his Snapchat account of posting a picture of his ex, Chelsea Chris, while engaged in some sexual activities. Antonio Brown is claiming that his account was hacked, but he actually doesn't have the best track record when it comes to a Snapchat because he actually posted fake nude images of Gisele Bündchen. So this might be just a case of him trying to cover his own little booty here.

00:58:18 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 5:

How does Antonio Brown survive without playing in football these days? It seems like he would be the type of guy that would probably spend all of his money.

00:58:26 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 2:

In lawsuits because he's posting revenge porn? Yeah. Looks like it. Looks like it. Chelsea actually posted that she was aware of the post. She was the one who reported it to Snap. As of right now, his account has been removed from the platform, and there's no word yet if charges will be filed.

00:58:42 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 5:

Do you see that they're saying now Tom Brady will not come back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next year?

00:58:47 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 2:

Is he blaming the Buccaneers and not himself?

00:58:49 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 5:

No. Oh, well, no, his best buddy in the world, Julian Edelman, who played with him in New Orleans, is saying...

00:58:56 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 3:

If he has another season, it's not going to be in Tampa Bay, right? And it's just because Tom's a businessman. Tom's a smart guy. He's going to do exactly what he did when he left New England. He's going to go to the best situation that helps him win if he wants to continue his playing career. I don't know.

00:59:11 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 5:

I get that. He's going to go somewhere where he can actually be good, and he wasn't able to do that in Tampa. You think New England, Mike?

00:59:18 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, no. I think the Niners, because he was a big Niners fan growing up, or did you say the Raiders yesterday too?

00:59:26 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 5:

The rumor is the Raiders, yeah. He's not going to the Niners if the Niners have that young quarterback that's doing so great that Mr. Irrelevant, was it Brock Purdy or whatever?

00:59:36 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 4:

How great would that be to have Brady do one year there, teach this guy who already is pretty good anyways, like a bunch of great stuff, and then retire?

00:59:44 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 5:

I think a storybook would be him going back to New England and then retiring as a Patriot.

00:59:48 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 2:

Let it go. Let it go. Beyonce is about to get paid the big bucks, about $24 million. If you're wondering for what?

01:00:00 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 4:

One concert, $24 million, one concert in Dubai. It's going to be taking place at the Atlantis, the Royal Resort. She's been working very hard. Now, there were a lot of leaked videos yesterday on Twitter of her rehearsing for this show. Apparently, it was so loud in the middle of the night, people heard it from like a mile away. Some of the songs that they heard were renditions of Naughty Girl, Halo, Spirit, Freedom, Crazy in Love, Drunk in Love, and so many more. A lot of people thinking that Jay-Z is probably going to show up to the show as well. This is her first full-length concert in five years.

01:00:37 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't even count because the public can't go. It's a private show.

01:00:41 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 4:

A private invite only. $24 million. I would die. If somebody offered you $24 million, is there anything you would say no to?

01:00:50 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 1:

I'd do anything.

01:00:51 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 4:

Anything. Anything.

01:00:53 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 1:

Even all the dirty stuff.

01:00:55 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so.

01:00:56 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 1:

I'd do it for $12.

01:00:58 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 4:

I was moving along before people start offering real cash. Mental images I didn't need. New Mexico prosecutors are going to reveal today whether or not they're going to be bringing criminal charges in the accidentally deadly shooting by Alec Baldwin on that set of Russell.

01:01:15 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 1:

So you never pulled the trigger? No, no, no, no, no. I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger at them, never.

01:01:20 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, on October 21st of 2021, he was rehearsing that scene. It was in that wooden church in Santa Fe. He did shoot the cinematographer and actually the director as well, because it went through her and to him. He says that he remembers pulling back the hammer on the gun, but not actually pulling the trigger. But we're going to find out if there's going to be any charges.

01:01:41 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 3:

There's no evidence that this was intentional. This was clearly an accident, but perhaps a criminal accident. Just because something is an accident doesn't mean that a criminal act didn't occur. Okay, 2023 is going to be my year.

01:01:58 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Now, I have not been in a relationship for a very long time. I totally understand that. But 2023 is the era of revenge music from Boss Women. Like Shakira's new song, and I am absolutely here for it.

01:02:13 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 2:

She has a song that's a revenge song like Miley does?

01:02:15 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 4:

She does, and this is it right here. And you're not going to understand a word of it, which is fine. I have a translation for you. but there are so many little gems in this song and a music video for one of her other songs so apparently Shakira found out her husband was cheating because her jam was running low in the refrigerator and her kids and her husband don't eat jam so when she was out of town she would come back and realize wait somebody somebody's been eating this and it's not me so she did this song where she's talking about I know you're chewing and swallowing swallowing and chewing, referencing the fact that somebody was eating her food. That's how she caught her man with another woman. But also it has some other really mean lyrics in there. She says that she won't like me except for rookies because her husband is an athlete. This is for you to be mortified, to chew and swallow, swallow and chew. I won't give back with you, not if you cry, not even if you beg me. You left me with your mom as a neighbor, the press at my door, and debt with the treasury, which remember we've been talking about the big tax evasion.

01:03:20 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 1:

Are you doing Babble? Because how did you know The translation of this thing

01:03:23 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 4:

I am bilingual

01:03:25 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 1:

Are you?

01:03:26 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 4:

I did not know that No, no, no, I'm not Hola que tal No There's this thing called Google And when you go on Google They'll translate it for you Okay But one of my favorite lines is Women no longer cry Women get paid

01:03:38 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 1:

Whoa

01:03:39 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 4:

I love it I'm living for it In the music video She has her husband's head In the refrigerator Oh, it's so good It's so good But speaking of revenge songs We've already, like you said, you got it playing right now. Miley Cyrus, Flowers, another great song. Rumor is now because she's been spotted in the music video wearing the gold dress and putting her hair up. A lot of people making connections. Is she referencing Jennifer Lawrence in this? Because Jennifer Lawrence iconically hit the red carpet to one of the Hunger Games movies with Liam in that same gold dress. Or very similar gold dress is what I should say. It's not exactly the same. And her hair is pulled back exactly the same way. So a lot of people are saying, is this Miley's way of telling us of one of the 14 women that Liam cheated on her with was one of them, Jennifer Lawrence?

01:04:25 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 2:

Oh, interesting. I like when, by the way, you're very dramatic in your delivery of that. And it's the best.

01:04:33 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 4:

Me? Dramatic? Yes. What? Check out all of today's Dirty by going to the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

01:05:19 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Sweet. Thanks.

01:05:20 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 3:

All right. Love you for listening. I was reading this poll from cafemom.com. I don't know where. It was in one of our prep services. And it says, what are your husband's most annoying habits? And yesterday I'm reading this. And I'm reading it while Chelsea is there. And she was going, check, check, check. Like basically agreeing with every single one of these. By the way, you'll have to call us up and you'll have to tell us, like, what are your husband's most annoying habits? And by the way, I want guys to call us up and tell us what's their girls' or, you know, wives' most annoying habits. Because it's not fair that it's always about, you know, us, right, Mike? It has to be about them, too. We have to be able to do it. So, hi, Chels. Are you busy? Can I talk to you for a second?

01:06:17 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 2:

You can talk to me.

01:06:17 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 3:

All right. So that poll that I read yesterday about the most annoying habits, and here are the most annoying habits, and then I'm going to tell you what Chelsea told me were her most annoying habits because I wrote those down. The most annoying habits that women said for their guys collectively, chewing with their mouths open, snoring, no fashion sense. For example, mixing plaid with stripes. Number four on the list, leaving the toilet seat up all the time. I always hear that all the time. I'm going, who a guy leaves the toilet seat up all the time? Come on. I sit down to pee. On number five, leaving dirty laundry everywhere in the house except for in the hamper. And then number six, this is my favorite one, leaving their shaved facial and pubic hair all over the bathroom counter. Gross. By the way, if you're all over the bathroom counter with your pubic hair, how close are you getting right up on the counter when you're doing that thing? So now it's time for Chelsea's most annoying. And Chelsea, you remember what you said? Here, I'll read them what you said to me yesterday and see if I've cured any of these over 24 hours. Chelsea's most annoying habit was the most annoying habit for all women. And she says when I chew with my mouth open, it's annoying, which is funny because I really try at that. But the other day we were out eating and you looked at me and go, close your mouth. It was that bad.

01:07:54 - 01:08:01 | Speaker 2:

And I always say to you, I hope you do not eat like this with clients and in front of other people. It is awful.

01:08:03 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I'll have to ask some of our clients.

01:08:06 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 2:

I guarantee you do. I guarantee. It's awful.

01:08:08 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 3:

I'll ask him if I do that. Number two on Chelsea's most annoying habits for me, texting and driving. Oh, yeah. She hates when I text and drive.

01:08:19 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 2:

And one day I will take your phone and throw it out the window.

01:08:23 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Number three, asking a question, then not listening to her give my answer.

01:08:30 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 1:

Every day. Every day. We've all felt that mojo Where you ask a question And then we realize 10 seconds into our answer You didn't want to listen to the answer

01:08:41 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I'll say something totally random Just to see if he catches it Wait a second, you do? Chelsea, have you ever done that before?

01:08:49 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 2:

Well, but I mean like When you ask me a question And I answer you And you don't even listen

01:08:55 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, not even paying attention Number four Calling to talk to her on the phone then she notices while we're talking that I'm not paying attention because I'm looking at something on my phone.

01:09:10 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh.

01:09:12 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Wait, how can you tell when that happens?

01:09:16 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 2:

Because when you're on the phone with you and I'll ask you a question or I'll say something and it's dead quiet, dead quiet, and then you'll say, uh-huh. uh and then you'll say uh and i oh and then what my response half of the time is i cannot believe you get paid to talk for a living

01:09:40 - 01:09:56 | Speaker 3:

it's not nice i'm grateful but i can't believe it yeah thank you um and then the last one that she did was soaking dishes in the sink instead of loading them right into the dishwasher no no

01:09:56 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

not in the sink you will take and

01:10:00 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 8:

Instead of putting, instead of rinsing off forks or the utensils, you always take a glass cup. I find it every morning in the sink. You take a glass cup and you put the utensils in the glass cup and you soak them for overnight, for whatever. And just, there's a sponge that you can take and can wipe the utensil off and put it right in the dishwasher.

01:10:23 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 6:

By the way, when you're doing that, I almost kind of sense that you're actually making the motion of doing it. Is that what you're doing?

01:10:29 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 8:

I am. million percent and then i have all of these glasses that i have to wash and put away and

01:10:37 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 6:

it's just annoying okay so another step for me mike actually was uh concurring with me when i said we should do annoying things about our spouse my most annoying thing about you chelsea nothing no tick tock that's the most annoying thing that's either two two reasons do you guys remember the caller a couple weeks ago that said that when his wife sends him TikToks, it feels like it's homework? Chelsea sends a lot of TikToks to me. Because she loves you. Number two, she's always on TikTok when she's around me. So she's constantly on TikTok. And in the middle of the night, she'll wake up and just start looking at TikTok. And also, if she would

01:11:15 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 2:

listen, she wouldn't have to get on TikTok. She could have a conversation with you, but you don't listen.

01:11:19 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Correct. Wow, these women stick together. All right. I'll talk to you later, Chelsea. I'm going to grab some of these listener calls here right now.

01:11:26 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 8:

All right, bye.

01:11:27 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 5:

Now, you'll send us a lot of TikToks. So, obviously, if she's on even more.

01:11:32 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 6:

No, they come from her. They're all usually something that she found. Casey, hi. What's the most annoying habit of your spouse?

01:11:43 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 2:

So, my husband will drink or gulp all of his drinks so loudly, so dramatically. It could be a milkshake. It could be water. Whatever it is, you can hear it from across the room.

01:11:54 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 6:

Can you imitate it for us so that we can hear what it sounds like?

01:11:57 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. No, I couldn't do that.

01:12:00 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 4:

Come on. It reminds me of that scene in Napoleon Dynamite where he grabs the water or Gatorade or something. He slams it like he hasn't drank anything in years. And it's like.

01:12:11 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 2:

That's literally everything he drinks, no matter what. And it's the most annoying. And it always catches him a side eye when he does it.

01:12:18 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. What's going on, Kayla? Hi.

01:12:21 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Um, so I actually kind of feel bad texting this in because my boyfriend was so sweet to me this morning. He went and got me McDonald's, but, um, he's going to love that I called in and said this actually too. Cause we're both big fans, but, um, he has these like little, we call them snot rags. Cause he just has these little like tissues or like paper towels always in his pocket or he'll leave them around or like, I'll find them like in the bed. I feel bad. Cause like he's got a running nose all the time. I get it. Like, but throw them away.

01:12:52 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 6:

How old is he? That sounds like an old guy thing to do.

01:12:57 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 3:

He's, like, only 30.

01:12:59 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 7:

Break up with him. I love him.

01:13:01 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it's good that he's using them, but throw them away. Don't make other people touch them.

01:13:05 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 6:

Megan, break up with him. She's bringing back McDonald's for her in about a second.

01:13:08 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. There's not enough McDonald's in the world. I have to share his pet peeve of mine as well because I don't get it, and I kind of want your guys' opinion. I might regret this. But he doesn't like the way I say green beans.

01:13:24 - 01:13:25 | Unknown:

He says that.

01:13:25 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 3:

Like, I just say green beans. Like, I don't.

01:13:28 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 6:

I don't hear. A little bit of emphasis on the green.

01:13:31 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 3:

What? Green beans. A little bit. Green beans.

01:13:34 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I think he's beans.

01:13:36 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 5:

Most people just say green beans. You said green beans. Oh, great.

01:13:40 - 01:13:40 | Unknown:

Thanks, Spike.

01:13:41 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 5:

Green beans. Okay.

01:13:45 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 6:

Katie, what is your guy's most annoying habit?

01:13:47 - 01:13:55 | Speaker 3:

My husband leaves his dirty socks All over the place in my house And it's disgusting

01:13:55 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 5:

That's a guy thing to do Yeah, I get that at home I get the, you know

01:14:01 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 3:

Right, like he'll go downstairs He'll like start working on his Like playing on his computer He'll leave them down there He'll leave them in the kitchen

01:14:09 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 5:

Because like I finally get home I want to get comfortable on the couch I take them off and just throw them But maybe one ends up on the coffee table I don't know.

01:14:18 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, guys. It's just disgusting. I'm like, that's not what I want to smell when you first get home. I'm sorry. I love you.

01:14:24 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 6:

Go.

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 3:

Go wrong.

01:14:27 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 6:

Thank you, Katie. What's up, Daniel?

01:14:30 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi there. Love you guys, first of all. First time caller. We love you, too.

01:14:34 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, thank you for listening.

01:14:35 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 1:

So my girlfriend's thing, if she comes home from work, hard day, love her for it, but she'll take her clothes off wherever she is. So we've coordinated a hamper, drop it in the hamper, yet it still ends up always on the floor. Yeah. The utmost respect.

01:14:53 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 6:

Is this amazing? A guy complaining about this.

01:14:56 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

The only man in the world who says, my girlfriend comes home and I get to do it.

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 6:

naked but she was closing the floor that's true bro pick them up i figured some guy has to talk

01:15:07 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 7:

for the men who do laundry out there but respect to all women who take care of the house because that typically is it who do it does it not the men yeah there you go jb what's up

01:15:17 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 4:

not much how y'all doing good equal opportunity for the guys to complain about the girls

01:15:23 - 01:15:40 | Speaker 5:

i actually don't have very many complaints my wife and i are a routine and she actually came to me with a tiktok she saw and told me i never have to put the toilet seat back down because this tiktok showed her that it's the same amount of effort for her to put the seat down

01:15:40 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 1:

as it is for me to lift the seat up no of course no of course no that tiktok was made by a guy yes She sounds like a man, too.

01:15:49 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 6:

She's the one that suggested it to me, so I'm like, all right.

01:15:52 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 1:

She's been bamboozled, okay? Because everybody uses it with the seat down, all right? Everybody does, even you guys, so leave it down. The way he started the call, too, it sounds like she's standing right next to me.

01:16:04 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show, your home of the phone scams. Michelle is a manager of a donut shop, actually not that far from here. They get so busy in the morning. Spike is going to try to get in on the action and sell donuts in their parking lot, and let's see if they shut them down. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:16:24 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home with phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

01:16:38 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey, listen, what's the price of your donuts? How much does a typical donut cost?

01:16:44 - 01:16:47 | Speaker 7:

How many? One or six or 12?

01:16:47 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 3:

Just one donut. $1.39. $1.39, that's great. And what's the best seller? What do you think is the most popular one?

01:16:56 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 7:

It's a Boston cream, chocolate glaze, chocolate postage, strawberry.

01:17:00 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, listen, I'm going to set up shop out front, and I'm going to sell donuts tomorrow morning for $1 each. So I just wanted to let you know.

01:17:07 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 7:

$1 each. A regular price.

01:17:09 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 3:

$1 each. Yeah, I'm going to do $1 each out in your parking lot Because you guys always have such a line for the drive-thru there. It goes on forever. So I'm going to help you guys out to help take the pressure off.

01:17:21 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 7:

No, I got $11.99, $12.

01:17:25 - 01:17:32 | Speaker 3:

No, but my price is going to be $1, and I'm going to sell them to the customers in your line so they don't have to wait as long. You know what I'm saying?

01:17:33 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 7:

Give me one second. Hold on.

01:17:34 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Are you getting the manager for me?

01:17:43 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 9:

this is michelle how can i help you hi i'm the manager oh good hi this is nikki cappuccino

01:17:51 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 3:

So I already have a bunch. I'll sell them tomorrow morning.

01:18:17 - 01:18:23 | Speaker 9:

You're not going to be allowed on our property to sell donuts in the parking lot.

01:18:23 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, no, I'm going next door in that pizza place right there in the same parking lot. And listen, if anyone wants like a cold brew or an ice drink, I'll still send those customers back to you. I'm only going to sell hot coffee and donuts. I think that's better perhaps maybe opening up their own donuts. Boy, I think your headset's crapping out on me there. Are you still there? You are not allowed to do this. I got you. I heard you say I'm allowed to do this. That's what I heard.

01:18:50 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 9:

No, you're not allowed to do this.

01:18:51 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 3:

Are you here and there's, like, bad feedback or some static or something?

01:18:55 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 9:

This is, yeah, no. Yeah, perfect. Thank you for saying yes. I think we're done here. You can call our franchise office if you have any questions.

01:19:04 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay, wait. Before you leave, I have to let you know one thing about my donut sales, and that's that this is Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show, and you've just been phone scammed.

01:19:13 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my.

01:19:15 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. It is Mojo in the Morning Show. So you were on the campus of UT, of University of Toledo, your alma mater.

01:21:03 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had to think about it.

01:21:04 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:21:04 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 2:

I had to think about it. I went to two different colleges.

01:21:07 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 1:

You went to Bowling Green, right? And then UT.

01:21:10 - 01:21:11 | Speaker 2:

Can you name either of their mascots?

01:21:11 - 01:21:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I do.

01:21:13 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

I love how you guys are so proud of me. I knew it.

01:21:16 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

Wait, real quick. So did you get kicked out of Bowling Green, and that's why you went to U2?

01:21:20 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 2:

No, I loved BG. I loved BG so much. You just wanted to be close? When I got hired to the radio station full-time, I switched schools to make things easier. BG's kind of far out from me. It was like a 45-minute drive when I was commuting.

01:21:32 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 3:

Every day, that'd be crazy.

01:21:33 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 1:

So you were on campus, and you were doing some, what, social posts and stuff? Is it Celsius?

01:21:42 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know if you know this, but I am... I'm sorry, I was trying to be serious there for a second. i want to be like i'm an influencer i am not i am the farthest thing from yeah you are no not really and i learned that lesson kind of the hard way yesterday so we were out at the campus of ut go rockets and i was sitting literally in the middle of the quad there's a the giant school seal you know all the rumors you gotta walk around it counterclockwise until after you graduate or you're gonna fail all your classes so we're we're sitting around that but the way ut is set up um their main campus is like a giant circle so all the buildings are in a giant circle there's like a spoke wagon wheel does that make sense yeah yeehaw okay uh set up in the uh sidewalks and so everything kind of cuts through campus we're sitting literally in the middle and we're filming tiktoks and we're being funny we're being said i had never been so disrespected by 18 to 22 year olds in my entire life because when i told you the dirty looks i received the i can't even call it cat calling i was yelled at but not in a positive i'd like to take you out way but in a you're too old to be here what are you doing kind of way and it was a big slap in the face that i uh i'm not on the cusp i i'm not you guys i've learned my lesson i'm a full millennial because These kids thought I was very out of touch and very not cool. And I had never been more embarrassed in my entire life, especially because I consume a lot of TikToks. I love TikTok. It is my new favorite social media platform. I see people vlogging out in public all the time. They're at restaurants. They're on campuses. They're on cruises.

01:23:23 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Does that make you cool with the youths to be watching TikTok?

01:23:27 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, I tried, but I will never, ever film in public again. I will never, ever do it. I don't know how people do it.

01:23:33 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 1:

So are you coming around to me in regards to saying that the teens and 20-somethings, what generation are they?

01:23:42 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 2:

They're Gen Z. Gen Z. They're who I look up to.

01:23:44 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 1:

They don't care about anybody. Are you in there?

01:23:48 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 2:

And I respect that about them.

01:23:49 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Because here you are. You're trying to get them to be part of your little- Nobody wanted to talk to us. And nobody wants to play it.

01:23:57 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 2:

Nobody wanted to talk to us. Nobody wanted to come near us.

01:24:00 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:24:01 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 2:

They started laughing at me when I was doing a TikTok dance.

01:24:03 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 1:

Did you explain to them that you're an influencer? No.

01:24:06 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 2:

And that they should be excited to see you? The one dude was like, how many social media followers do you have? Which is an awkward question. Because if I say a lot, it sounds conceited. And if I say a little, it sounds like I'm desperate. So there's no right answer.

01:24:18 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 1:

How many do you have? If you say your numbers, they've got to look at that. Your numbers are good.

01:24:21 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 2:

No, I felt embarrassed. So I didn't respond. And he's like, that's what I thought.

01:24:25 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 3:

You have a lot more than that kid does. Let's point it that way.

01:24:28 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 1:

How many social media followers do you have?

01:24:31 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 2:

Not that many.

01:24:32 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead. Tell us.

01:24:33 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 2:

On TikTok?

01:24:34 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:24:35 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 2:

I think like 3,000. Okay.

01:24:36 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 1:

How many do you have, though, on your Instagram? Your Instagram's got a ton.

01:24:40 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 2:

Close to 40.

01:24:41 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 1:

40,000. Not 40.

01:24:42 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 2:

Listen here, youths. I got 40,000 followers.

01:24:45 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 1:

Put them all together. What I do is add them all up.

01:24:47 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 3:

Because I saw your Instagram live, and I was like, when are they going to talk to someone? You guys were kind of sitting there talking to each other.

01:24:53 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's what I learned when the kids were right. Because as I was doing a TikTok dance that will eventually get posted, but my...

01:25:00 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 4:

My pride is a little hurt right now. I fell while trying to get off screen. And I hurt my knees so bad I've been limping all morning. I think I might have torn my ACL. I'm in pain.

01:25:13 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 2:

That's the problem is they see you limping around. They're like, who's this old lady right here doing this thing?

01:25:17 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 4:

They genuinely was like, she fell and she deserves that. And I was like, fair.

01:25:22 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 2:

I got to tell you something. So I was on Michigan's campus and I was going to have a meeting with somebody. and nobody looks or talks to each other at all. I think what happened was, I think the pandemic has made people not even look at each other. Everybody looks straight ahead and they all look like zombies as they're walking.

01:25:42 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 3:

And if you say good morning to someone, they'd get shocked. They'd look up like, huh, what?

01:25:46 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 4:

I saw a kid put in his headphones when he saw me talking to somebody and I was like, you didn't pull up a playlist that fast. I know you can hear me, but you put them in to ignore me.

01:25:55 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 2:

And Nicole, what did you want to say to Megan?

01:25:58 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 5:

So, I know my friend's listening, too. I have a 22-year-old friend, and Megan, I'm 32. But I know she would claim you as a Gen Z because we talk about you all the time. Thank you.

01:26:08 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 2:

I love you. That's nice.

01:26:10 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 3:

It might be up for drinks next time. Would she get in a TikTok with her?

01:26:13 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 4:

She probably would. That's a no. That was a respectful no. Maybe.

01:26:19 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 2:

Joe?

01:26:21 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how you guys doing?

01:26:22 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's up, buddy?

01:26:24 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 7:

So, Megan, I get it. college campuses are freaking they're ruthless nowadays i uh i go to michigan state i'm a senior there and me and my uh me and my fiance were walking down uh walking down the street one time at night and this car a frag it was a completely empty street until this car a frat guy came driving by and he screamed at us like ew a couple and then they just kept driving you a couple that's what they said yeah they said ew a couple

01:26:53 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 3:

now let me just speak for the youths on one i don't know if i can defend or not because you know i've it's been maybe three years since i've been at a college but um don't laugh but sorry the life of a college student can feel like pure chaos i mean managing classes and a job and an internship and social events and sleep and then you don't even have much personal time and i only know this from talking to my daughter every night that it can get a little pressure on there so when you're just trying to get to your class that you woke up late for and you realize you don't have your paper done and you're walking and all of a sudden you look up and you see two girls tiktok dancing with cans of product and they're trying to lure you into their world but they i would

01:27:35 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 2:

avoid that too i remember going on i remember going on uh michigan's campus actually i'm sorry No, it was Oakland U's campus, and we were doing a thing for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, and we had boxes of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. I felt like I was getting pummeled by people because they wanted them so bad. If you guys go out there with cans of Celsius, you would think that they would be attacking you for them.

01:27:59 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, no. Apparently, if you try to engage with it, so I'll tell you what. I went to Bee Gees campus a couple of weeks ago to do this. We're doing these a lot of college campuses. We set up a table with them just set on the table, and we sat there, and we didn't talk. They were all gone in three minutes. We try talking to people. They avoid us like the plague.

01:28:18 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. That actually kind of is like how it is here at the radio station. You put food on the free table. Everybody grabs it. You start talking to people. Nobody comes by you. What's up, Jessie?

01:28:31 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. How's everyone doing today?

01:28:33 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 2:

We're doing good. Megan is feeling very hurt that nobody wanted to talk to her when she was out on campus yesterday.

01:28:41 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 6:

You know, that is okay. I'm in my early 20s, and I'm a professor at Wayne State. I teach a basic engineering class. All my students are right around the age of 18 and possibly up to 20, and they don't think I'm cool at all. I start off the day, you know, with a dad joke, you know, like, why did the cookie go to the doctor? Because he feels crummy.

01:29:00 - 01:29:02 | Unknown:

They don't think I'm cool.

01:29:02 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 3:

Wow. We laughed. Absolute gold. Well, you just put yourself in the other category and said, I'm an old.

01:29:09 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? You should say to them, I control your grade.

01:29:12 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 4:

Here's what I think. Oh, 100%. I threaten them all the time. I love it. Jesse, tell me if you think I'm right. I feel like Gen Z just is desperate for us to prove ourselves to them. And we're desperate enough for their approval that we'll do anything. And I've lost all self-respect.

01:29:29 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 6:

100%. 100%. I'm over here, like, throwing myself, like, like a clown. And, you know, they just don't buy it Some of them, some of them do But most of them just laugh at me Not because of what I'm doing

01:29:39 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 2:

Megan will come to your campus next And then you just get all the professors together And that's how you get them to drink it Yeah, yeah, yeah, please All right, take care of yourself Spike, you went to the movies yesterday You actually went and saw that movie Megan How was it, by the way?

01:29:51 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 3:

It was good Yeah, I thought it was just fun And kind of Scary? Good escape Not really, because you could see It's lovely on the on the horror and scary factors because you can predict and see everything that's coming from a mile away you know everybody that is going to die and they deserve to die and see i i still

01:30:10 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 4:

watch movies like that that are predictable and i watch them through my hands i put my fingers up

01:30:15 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 1:

and i did hear there was one part that's like very awkward and funny there it has to do with this i

01:30:21 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 3:

don't want to say it on the end wrote it but is that yes yeah there's a couple spots uh that that It made it fun because these little moments that you're like, they took the rules of a horror film away and made it silly and it made it kind of fun. And it was 90 minutes in and out, Mojo. You would have loved it. That's good. I love that. Oh, my gosh. Because every other movie in theaters right now is three and a half hours long.

01:30:42 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 4:

So Spike went to the movies yesterday.

01:30:45 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 3:

Imagine theaters, by the way, and bought my beer at the concession stand. You didn't sneak it in? I did not sneak it in. It's only water you sneak in. Yes, exactly.

01:30:52 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 4:

But you went and saw a movie, and then you witnessed something that happened during the movie.

01:30:57 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we just sat down in the movie theater, and we were watching the trailers, and the guy in front of us stood up and started searching under his seat. Not sure what he was digging for, but he and his date were using the iPhone light, searching, and I was like, oh, you know, I offered to help. Uh-oh, did you drop something? You know, you want us to look for something? He asked us to look for his wedding ring, and honestly, like, I watched him. he came in he honestly just pulled his hand out of his gloves really fast and the ring came off and bounced on the ground somewhere well this guy looked desperate and nervous to find it and when we were looking around that's when i looked up and realized that his date didn't have a ring on and i don't know what the relationship was but if he had a wife at home there was no way in hell she was going to buy that story about the gloves and the ring just flew off and i don't he seemed really nervous but he stuck around until after the movie because then the trailer stopped and the movie started so he just sat down and then after the movie the lights came up they started searching again i was like good luck my dude and i realized like this guy's panicking and i don't think that was his wife with him but i couldn't tell so you so you think that

01:32:08 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 4:

the only reason his true panic was not that he lost his ring but that he was gonna have to explain

01:32:13 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 3:

it to somebody later maybe where he lost his ring you know it just looks suspicious because you can't say yeah i went to the movies by myself and lost a ring and it just looks we and oh it just fell off when i was taking my gloves off i'm like huh so i thought this could be interesting because it reminded me of a time i went on a guy's weekend and we went to like this music festival and my friend came out of the bathroom and he was shaking his hand because he wet it washed his hands but they had no dry tower dryers or anything so he's shaking his hands like crazy to dry his hands and his ring went flying off in the music tent and we're laughing because we're all there's like six guys looking for this dude's wedding ring on the ground as this horrible jimmy buffett cover band is playing and i'm like we gotta find this because no wife is gonna want to hear you when you came home from a guy's weekend and you lost your ring like why'd you take it off i didn't take it off It fell off No rings don't fall off No it's shaking my hand really hard Like no it's just suspicious Likely stories

01:33:15 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay so 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 Has anybody ever had this happen to them Where they lost their ring You know for a reason Like what was the reason But then you were worried that if you didn't find it You were going to have to explain to your significant other Why you lost your wedding ring

01:33:34 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah anybody lose it in an actual innocent thing but it was gonna look really suspicious like just the the story doesn't

01:33:41 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 4:

sound it sounds fishy you know yeah i do you know what's funny is that you hear guys that work in factories that don't wear their rings into the factories and then then they'll say that they'll like leave it you know in their cup holder or whatever it is and their wives get really crazy over them like why they're not wearing it but i get in a job like that why you wouldn't do it or if you're a landscaper or, you know, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number to get through to us. Text is 95500, moments away from giving you a chance to win $10,000 in free groceries. So be listening. Coming up in about 15 minutes from now, we will have that for you. Jimmy, what's happening?

01:34:30 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? I got a funny one for you.

01:34:32 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:34:33 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 2:

You remember Ethan from 5 at 6.55?

01:34:36 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Great champion.

01:34:38 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

So he's actually my best friend, and he lost his wedding ring when him and I went out drinking one night.

01:34:43 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

01:34:44 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

And him and I went Sunday morning, just went bar hopping, trying to find it, calling these bars, trying to find it. He ended up, when he got home, he took it off when he got home. I have no idea why. And it fell underneath his kitchen table.

01:35:00 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 10:

He found it the next morning, but, like, he had to tell his wife and everything.

01:35:03 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez.

01:35:04 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 10:

It was just a whole ordeal.

01:35:05 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 5:

Was he hiding his hand from her for a little bit until he figured it out?

01:35:09 - 01:35:17 | Speaker 10:

No, no, it was just, we were kind of going through the how do we tell her type thing because we were out drinking just us two, and it was just funny.

01:35:17 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 5:

I bet he's happy that you told that story on the radio. What's up, Amanda?

01:35:22 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 7:

I lost my ring on the dock right next to my wife.

01:35:26 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 5:

No. Thank God you did that right next to her, though. I mean, I hate to say that.

01:35:31 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but she was on the phone, and there was a spider on my arm. I didn't see it, but I felt it. And as soon as I smacked the spider off, you heard Luke, and she was like, I got it off the phone. Amanda just lost her ring.

01:35:46 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 4:

You know what, Amanda? I'm not going to say for sure, but it sounds like you just wanted an upgrade with a bigger ring, right?

01:35:53 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 7:

That was the upgrade. Oh, no.

01:35:56 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 5:

Losing it in a lake is bad Right How about Alex Where did your fiance lose the ring

01:36:04 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 8:

We were in North Carolina And he was Swimming and he was playing with the kids In the ocean And like throwing them in the waves And he came walking out of the water And he was like oh it's gone And couldn't find it But his dad Did the same thing on their honeymoon and lost his ring in the ocean, too.

01:36:28 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. What's up with these guys? My ring is, like, 12 sizes too small for me. It doesn't come off. I can't get this thing off. You got to make sure you size it in a way. What's up, Ashley? Hi, good morning. Good morning. Did you lose the ring?

01:36:46 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So I don't wear my ring to work because I work with food and the gloves always cut it. so i do the dishes at home and i put it in my pimp pocket not realizing and i've tried it not once not twice but three times and i was afraid to tell my fiance about it so when i finally did we're freaking out searching for it so we finally found it in the dryer and there was a diamond missing thank god the jewelers covered it because oh i would have been in big trouble he tells me all the time. He's like, can you not put it in the dryer anymore?

01:37:23 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 4:

You need to put an old sign on your dryer that says ring check. Remind yourself.

01:37:28 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 5:

Carly, how did your husband lose his ring? Okay, he

01:37:32 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 1:

didn't actually lose it, but he was driving home from work on Telegraph and he picked his nose and he flicked his finger like the bugger out of the window. His ring almost came off

01:37:46 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 3:

like a struggle.

01:37:48 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 1:

That is literally disgusting. Have you thought about divorcing him? That was a sign from God. I would have to divorce him.

01:37:56 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 5:

That is gross. Adam, what happened to you?

01:38:00 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 9:

So I'd actually lost a bunch of weight, and then we went to, shameful to say, an ICP show. And, of course, in the crowd, two leaders are flying. I got hit in the chest with one. Ring flew off. Somehow with the garbage at Harpo. So, thankfully, my wife was with me, so she actually was able to believe that it actually happened. Got lucky, though. A couple days later, they did call me up, and somehow they found my ring. Wow.

01:38:24 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 4:

They went through the garbage? Oh, my gosh. Because the cleanup at an Insane Clown Posse show, for those who don't realize, I mean, well, you know what? Honestly, it was probably stuck to the floor with Faygo.

01:38:35 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Wait, was it in the garbage, or where did they find it?

01:38:39 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 9:

They just said they were sweeping up the floors with all the two leaders.

01:38:42 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 5:

And they found it Wow, that's amazing Aaron's husband lost a ring At the worst possible time to lose a ring Like Spike, your friends That were with you on the guys trip What happened?

01:38:58 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 6:

I know, I'm such a cool wife I let my husband go on this canoe trip With all his buddies Loses his ring five weeks after we get married Calls me, sobbing Of course, drunk and sobbing And I bought him a silicone ring and said, this is what you're going to wear from now on.

01:39:14 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 5:

Those are great.

01:39:15 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and he wouldn't wear it, though. He's like, no, I want my rose gold ring back. So I'm like, okay. So I went to the jeweler, ordered it two sizes too small, so now his finger looks like a little soft. That thing will never come off. Even in the freezing cold when we're out skiing, I'm like, his ring will not come off.

01:39:35 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 5:

His finger will come off before that ring will come off.

01:39:37 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 4:

But he did the smart thing. And he actually called you immediately from the guy's trip to tell you how upset he was he lost the ring. So he's like, I know this is going to look bad.

01:39:47 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I hear the boys in the back, like, playing beer pong, and he's sobbing in, like, a closet somewhere.

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

That's great. Mojo in the morning show. KP, our producer.

01:40:00 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 3:

is from Lake Orion, and she said that there's a scandal that's going around Lake Orion that we need to find the answer to today.

01:40:10 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 6:

Really? I had lunch in Lake Orion yesterday. I would have known if I would have snooped around. What is it?

01:40:18 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 3:

KP?

01:40:18 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 8:

Guys, I've got to get my stuff set up here. I had to run from the other room. So, yeah, I was scrolling on Facebook yesterday, and there is this picture that shows up. it had me absolutely rolling i was dying laughing i don't know if it was really late and i was slap happy or if this is actually funny but this this woman posted a picture of this guy on the corner uh i'm 24 it looks like he might be by kroger actually and he's playing the accordion and

01:40:45 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 7:

hell yeah by the way hell yeah like oh hell yeah but i'm rolling at these comments because

01:40:52 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 8:

everyone's trying to decide if he's actually playing the accordion or if it's like a recording And this is getting really heated Really? Really heated

01:41:02 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 3:

So the people that drive by see him And they can hear the accordion music But they don't believe that the music is coming from him playing the accordion They think that he's actually playing a soundtrack or something?

01:41:16 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, yeah So they're trying to figure that out But there's another perspective in this whole scenario Someone's like, well, even if he is playing the recording Or it's a recording We always pay to go see concerts that are lip-synced anyway. So why does it matter? And these comments are just so funny.

01:41:34 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 3:

This is wild. You sent them to our group chat, calling it out, saying, this is a scam. It's a total scam. This guy's not really playing. People are giving him money, yet he's not actually playing. I've seen those guys so much.

01:41:49 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 6:

Well, in the grocery store parking lot, the same guys with the violin, and they're playing along the music. And then sometimes they'll stop to take a tip from you And they stop playing violin But the music doesn't stop

01:41:59 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 3:

Why would people care that much That they're doing this That they think that this guy is They don't think that he is Oh this is good stuff

01:42:09 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 7:

Bro I'm so turned on right now

01:42:12 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 3:

You like accordion music

01:42:14 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 7:

This is my thing I just found out this is my thing

01:42:17 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 8:

Well he's hanging out in front of Kroger Right by my house so I can leave him your number if you want.

01:42:25 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 7:

Next time you go by, can you see if he's got a ring on his left finger while he's playing?

01:42:29 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 3:

Actually, Kim, did you witness the violin faker?

01:42:33 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we've seen him a few times, and it was beautiful music, but then we found out that it was a scam, and he was going to different local cities and playing, and it was just a soundtrack.

01:42:44 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 7:

But is it a scam if it's entertainment? Yeah. Is he a performer? I mean, yeah.

01:42:50 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But is that scam any different than a person faking that they're actually a homeless person and they need help? Like, I believe and I've seen it before on some of those shows, the TV shows that, you know, pull the hidden camera thing where the person will sit there on the corner, like with their child saying we don't have a roof over our head and then get into a Mercedes right afterwards with, you know, a bunch of people's money. I mean, honestly, I'd rather have them at least playing a music, you know, playing song.

01:43:20 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 8:

One of the comments says, well, at least he is out there trying to make money in a certain way instead of, like, just begging for money, you know? And, I mean, it's better than having a job. Some of them are saying, like, this is, like, he's making his own money in his own way.

01:43:32 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 3:

Serene?

01:43:33 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hi, Mojo.

01:43:35 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how are you?

01:43:36 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys. Big fan over here.

01:43:37 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:43:38 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 5:

I would say, yeah, Spike said it. It is super fake because in Allen Park on the hill where, like, the target is, there's, like, this couple that play the violin and the viola. You think they're the most magical orchestra Out there live And then randomly they'll just stop Smoke a cigarette and the music is still playing And he's like wow It's super fake

01:43:59 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 3:

But like we said though Serene Is it really a scam or do we care It's just a person that

01:44:04 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 5:

People love to bust other people

01:44:07 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 3:

You know what it is

01:44:08 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 4:

I think it's just their way of hustling You gotta do what you gotta do But I hope no one believes It's actually real They're not out there playing for real

01:44:18 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 2:

If you turn on the TV right now and flip through the channels That's not real either That's all fake

01:44:25 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 7:

Also, I'm a huge fan of drag I don't know if you know this They're not singing live They're lip syncing along and I still tip them

01:44:32 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you that whenever I go to Chicago I always see that guy that's like the tin man Looking guy that dances and stuff On the street corners You know who I'm talking about

01:44:41 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, all those buskers have their act And they've got their street corner

01:44:44 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 3:

I love that Like, I think that that's awesome. It's like, I'd rather see that than the guy selling a, you know, a candy bar or something like that.

01:44:52 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 7:

You know what kills me? The guy who looks like he's floating and he's holding onto a cane, but it's really just a metal plate under him.

01:44:58 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Don't ruin the illusion, man.

01:45:00 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 1:

My favorite part about this is just the drive-by photo that was posted on this. This person named Barbara is like, they're out Kroger's on 24.

01:45:10 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 3:

And they don't call it Kroger. They call it Kroger's. Matt, you know exactly what KP is talking about this morning, the accordion guy out in Lake Orion?

01:45:21 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 2:

I do, KP. I live in Lake Orion as well. I definitely saw him. Are you part of the Lake Orion chat group?

01:45:28 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 1:

Yes, that's where I found it.

01:45:31 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 2:

There's crazy stuff in there all the time.

01:45:33 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 4:

We love neighborhood chat groups. Private neighborhood Facebook pages are so petty. It's awesome.

01:45:39 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 1:

None more petty than the Sylvania one.

01:45:42 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 2:

No, the Lake Orient one's horrible.

01:45:44 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. I always know what's happening on Bunny Run Road.

01:45:48 - 01:45:49 | Unknown:

It's always Bunny Run Road.

01:45:50 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 3:

Amy says that the cops made that accordion person move. Is that right?

01:45:54 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I was going into like a TJ Maxx And they were playing and came out And the cops would talk to them And they were packing up and leaving And I heard that in my town They've made them leave multiple times

01:46:08 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 4:

I guess if they have a no soliciting rule I don't know The businesses can complain If they think it's scaring customers away If people don't want to go in the entrance Because that guy's there or something

01:46:19 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's

01:46:20 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 4:

Or maybe it was just a really bad performance so maybe he needs to step up his game. We should have him at our next live broadcast. Yeah.

01:46:30 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 1:

Jiggle ball. Yeah, there you go. You're opening that great accordion, man.

01:46:38 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 3:

That would be funny. Mojo in the morning show. So I was looking for songs to play, like throwback songs, and it's funny. I feel like I get a lot of my music from going to, like, a Red Wings game Because to me, whenever you go to a game, and it happens at any of them, Lions games or college games or whatever, whenever you see a song make a white person stand up and go crazy, you know it's a good song, right? Is it overplayed? No. I'm a Macarena? Listen. Okay. All right. The wobble. Then let me make you, Megan, feel this way, because I've seen you do this before. I've never. You've never gotten crazy, white girl, over there? Whenever you've heard this song?

01:47:29 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 4:

Now my stomach is sick. Oh, my stomach is sick. He's touching the tongue. She's making up sick.

01:47:34 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 1:

She says now, he takes off her dress. Now let me go.

01:47:41 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 4:

See, there's a difference, because when they play this in Michigan Stadium, and there's a tradition, the students go crazy. They do not play this at Little Caesars Arena. They're stuck in, like, 2006, unfortunately. No, no, they play it.

01:47:53 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 3:

I was there last week for a game.

01:47:55 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey, where are the white women at? I don't think it's white or any race.

01:47:59 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 3:

I think everybody loves it. Yeah, all right. Here's the deal. I put together a list of songs that make white people go crazy, okay?

01:48:10 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 4:

Starting with Journey, Don't Stop Believing. Absolutely. That's one of them right there. Ending with the outfield.

01:48:17 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

All right, here you go. Spike's right. Journey. Don't stop believing. Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi living on a prayer. Living on a prayer. Yep.

01:48:35 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Sweet Home Alabama.

01:48:37 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 3:

Sweet Home Alabama is a good one. Oh, here you go, Megan. This is another one for you. I'm going to get Megan to jump in. Jump up out of her seat for this one. Ready?

01:48:53 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 1:

Anything for a good Apple song. Are you kidding me?

01:48:56 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Sorry. Dancing Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody.

01:49:03 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 1:

01:49:30 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to put some other songs in this one. KP, this one is for you. You ready?

01:49:35 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm ready.

01:49:35 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 3:

Here you go. This is the song that if all of a sudden you just randomly were at a game or you're out at an event and it starts playing, people go crazy.

01:49:43 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 1:

01:50:18 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was raised up beneath the shade of a Georgia pie. And that's home, you know. Sweet tea, pecan pie, and homemade wine. Where the peaches grow. In my house, it's not much to talk about

01:50:32 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 4:

01:56:36 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 1:

01:57:00 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's so nice.

01:57:01 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 1:

I'll let you sleep with Chelsea.

01:57:03 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, actually, now I'm in.

01:57:05 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 1:

Are you in?

01:57:06 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, before I was going to say hard pass.

01:57:08 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 1:

Actually, she'd probably prefer that you slept with her. What's going on in this dirty?

01:57:12 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 2:

So, actor Julian Sands, this is a crazy story. He has disappeared after hiking up a Southern California, like, pretty deadly summit. Who is this person? Julian Sands. Actually, I know that name right now. You're like, who? You've seen him in Warlock, the TV series 24. His, like, IMDb page was 8,000 pages long.

01:57:33 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 3:

When you see him, he's one of those character actors like, oh, yeah, I've seen this dude in a bunch of things.

01:57:37 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's a British actor. His family reported him missing last Friday. Now, this mountain that he is lost on is notoriously treacherous. I love that word, and I said it right, and I'm really proud of myself. They've actually done 14 rescue missions for hikers in the last month alone. So the sheriff's department said at around 7.30 p.m. on Friday, a hiker was reported missing. A search crew was sent out because of weather conditions. They were actually pulled on Saturday. Helicopters and drones are going to be out there to continue searching once the weather lets up.

01:58:12 - 01:58:18 | Speaker 3:

That's the other thing. Last weekend, they had those crazy storms and a lot of mudslides and stuff in the California area.

01:58:18 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 1:

I would probably not be hiking right now in California with what I would think that the storms did to everything. Would you?

01:58:27 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. When I was there for the weekend, we were going to go hiking and we had to call it off because the road, we were just going to do some canyon hiking. And it was all collapsed. There was helicopters, you know, overhead trying to assess damage, and all the roads were closed off in the neighborhood because of all the mudslides and stuff. Wow.

01:58:45 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 2:

So it's been a week, and we still don't have a clear answer on what caused the death of Lisa Marie Presley. The L.A. County coroner has actually revealed that they deferred the cause of death. Now, that means that the agency wants more results to come in before making an official ruling. So maybe that's toxicology reports, whatever it is. The medical examiner is requesting more investigation into her death, including additional studies to be done. And then once the tests and studies come back, the doctor will then evaluate the case again and make the cause of death determination. She is going to be buried right next to her son, directly across from her father. There's been lots of photos that have come out of her plot actually being dug up and her headstone being placed. There's a stage at this date So they're assuming that there's going to be Some sort of musical guest there To honor her life So it's going to be sad I can't believe they still don't have an answer

01:59:41 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 1:

I wonder how If they'll show her funeral on television Like you know they'll break in sometimes For celebrities

01:59:49 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 2:

They'll probably stream it right

01:59:51 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 1:

I would think that they would I don't know if she was that big She's the daughter of Elvis I don't know she's the only heir We're doing it.

02:00:00 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 3:

to Graceland and stuff. I don't know. I think she's pretty big. I mean, look at all the Elvis movies and Elvis stuff that has come out.

02:00:09 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 1:

And Austin Butler's still using his Elvis voice two years later.

02:00:12 - 02:00:12 | Unknown:

Whatever.

02:00:13 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 1:

I'm not irritated by it at all. George Santos might be the biggest liar, period. See, he seems to lie about everything. His name, he claims to have two degrees from different colleges that he didn't even attend. He never worked at Citigroup or Goldman Sachs like he claimed in his biography. He also claimed to be Jewish and said that his grandparents escaped the Holocaust.

02:00:33 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 3:

Explain who he is for anybody that doesn't know the story.

02:00:35 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 1:

He is a representative from New York.

02:00:38 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 2:

This morning, new questions swirling again around the background of Congressman George Santos. The New York Republican already accused of defrauding voters, now facing a new round of unearthed claims. On a podcast in 2021, Santos said his mother's death was linked to debris from ground zero.

02:01:00 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 5:

My mom was a 9-11 survivor. She was in the South Tower and she made it out. She got caught up in the ash cloud. My mom fought cancer till her death.

02:01:09 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 2:

But immigration documents obtained by Alex Calzara through a Freedom of Information Act request and provided to ABC News suggest Santos' mother wasn't even in the United States on that day. Wow.

02:01:23 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely crazy. So he doesn't have the best track record with truth telling. Well, now there's a Navy vet named Richard Ossoff, and he's claiming that George Santos is a big scammer and his dog is dead because of George's greed. The Navy vet service dog needed surgery. He's claiming that George Santos offered to get the dog the procedure back when he was going by his previous alias, Anthony DeVolder. Yes, George Santos has had many names over the course of his very short life so far. He's like my age. But the vet is claiming that he never saw a penny of the $3,000 that George Santos raised online George Santos is denying these allegations But like I said, doesn't really have the best track record to back him up with truth telling

02:02:04 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 3:

He's perfect for politics

02:02:06 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, every single day he's got something new coming out Yesterday was the charity thing and then this morning about him participating in drag queen beauty pageants And like you said, under a different name, they keep finding new names that he's gone by over the years

02:02:19 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 3:

Participating in drag queen beauty pageants is not as bad as lying about your family story.

02:02:26 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 4:

No, people are just, he's just drawing criticism because he's staunchly conservative views and some of the policies that he's supported. And they're like, well, that doesn't jive with what you've been saying on the podium. So, but it's, to me, it's just crazy because, I mean, we all expect politicians to lie, but every day gets crazier than the last. When you tell someone that you're a New York politician and you're telling people that your mother was in the World Trade Center on 9-11, that's...

02:02:55 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 1:

That's a big deal. That's a very big deal. On Tuesday night, the Philadelphia Flyers Pride Night was supposed to be all about inclusivity and support of the LGBTQ plus community. Instead, we ended up talking about a defenseman named Ivan Prokhorov, I believe I'm saying his name correctly. He had decided not to participate in team warm-ups, not to wear the team's Pride Night jersey or use a stick with rainbow tape on it. When he was asked about it, here's what he had to say.

02:03:21 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 4:

I respect everybody. I respect everybody's choices. My choice is to stay true to myself and my religion.

02:03:27 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 1:

If you care, his religion is Russian Orthodox. When requested for a comment, the NHL only said players are free to decide which initiatives to support. Do you think that the Flyers should receive some backlash for this?

02:03:41 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 3:

Probably, yeah

02:03:42 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 1:

I thought so too I was a little surprised

02:03:44 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 3:

I have seen baseball players that wouldn't do it also I think it was last year The Atlanta Braves had a couple of players That wouldn't do it too I mean, listen We do have free speech in our country And we do allow the fact that free speech But

02:04:00 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 4:

There's openly gay players in the NHL So you would Are there really?

02:04:06 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know the NHL had openly gay players I thought it was football that was... Yeah, somebody came out

02:04:11 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 4:

a few years ago, but it's sad that just because of that alone is just one more reason that you wouldn't want to know your teammate doesn't have your back. And I feel

02:04:19 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 1:

like if there were other events that they were dressing up for, if you didn't participate for, we would get bigger backlash. But for some reason, because it's LGBTQ plus rights, it seems okay to just disregard it. I don't know if there should maybe not be backlash, but maybe some sort of... something the Flyers should do. I don't have the right answer, but it was very frustrating. I gotta tell you, though,

02:04:39 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 3:

I will say this, and I think that it's, you know, wonderful when people do things for the right reason. I feel like these teams do these things just to sell things and just to try to- There is absolutely that case, too.

02:04:50 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 4:

Selling the extra jersey that they wore in warm-up. Yeah.

02:04:53 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Corporate pride, baby. We love it. We love that you only care about us during June, and then all of a sudden-

02:04:59 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Right. Doesn't matter.

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 3:

It's better again, but it's fine.

02:06:49 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. We have Taylor Swift tickets coming up later this morning. It's Mojo in the morning show, home of the phone scams, the war of the roses and the dirty on the 30 and all of those are happening up uh happening on today's show mike your high school reunion's coming up uh what are we celebrating here do we

02:07:05 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 4:

know uh yeah yeah so we never had our high school reunion uh the first one and so we've i've never even been to a high school reunion ever and so we have uh our high school reunion coming up now this year and um they're trying to get everybody together i went to belting high school it's a small town in west michigan and they're trying to get everybody together by like connecting them on facebook and and reaching out and trying to tag everybody through facebook so there's like this big facebook group i've been getting all these like old high school friends adding me or just people i graduated with i thought it was weird that all of a sudden it just randomly

02:07:44 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 2:

happened like i thought maybe you didn't you didn't know they were adding you for the high school reunion purposes you thought it was just a random thing well it was it was a lot of them at

02:07:51 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 4:

once like a lot of people i went to high school and i'm like that's so bizarre i wonder why you know why this is popping up now and i'm like did something like did something happen like what is going on and then i found out it's because of this and then so i went over to the facebook group and i you know put my name in and said yeah i'm here or whatever because you got to like check in and and um so they know like who's gonna come and all that kind of stuff so it's later this summer and i have been watching that page now because i keep getting notifications after joining the group And I noticed that it's already begun. And again, I don't know what a high school reunion is like, but this in my head, this is what I imagine. It's like is people come from, you know, doing whatever they do they've done, you know, since we saw them since high school and almost like bragging or almost bringing a little bit more than they actually do in real life to these high school reunions. And it's begun in the Facebook group. Like there's this guy who's a I think he's in the Senate somewhere, which is awesome. Congratulations. That's really, really cool. like the like the u.s senate or the state senate i think it's state senate oh that's and he's a

02:08:53 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 2:

senator he's one of our our state senators i think he works in he does something in lansing i don't

02:08:58 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 4:

i don't fully know exactly what he does but he uh he was like a buddy of mine in high school i haven't talked to him in forever and he's his name george santos it is not no okay no no but he's got a like a fan page for his for his uh i don't know again yeah yeah yeah and so that's what he's like that's what he's commenting from not his actual page just that page oh you're flexing his u.s senate page yeah you're flexing that you're in this which is cool but you need

02:09:27 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 2:

to do you well you have uh yours is is your mic on on air mic but if you'd like you can always use the mojo in the morning show pages as yours you can top him with that one well do you have a

02:09:40 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 1:

separate one do you have a personal page and then the mic radio page on facebook so yeah i do i have

02:09:47 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 4:

on-air mic and then i have one for like my aunts oh my god he's so cool which one which one were you chatting in the my the one for my aunt like the personal page yeah yeah yeah mike you gotta go big this thing listen listen mike when you were in school when you were in high school were you

02:10:05 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 3:

popular uh i so i was friends with everybody so i didn't really i mean i would say i was like middle of the road like i i played sports so i hung out with the sports guys but i also did

02:10:15 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 4:

theater i didn't know mike's played sport what sports did you play i played football and baseball

02:10:19 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 3:

i played baseball for a long time i was pretty good wow yeah but i wasn't i was small so i you know didn't do well in like football and never played basketball well here's the thing mike you

02:10:30 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 4:

got something good going on right now you know you're you're uh in in all of our listening audiences you're one of the most popular uh radio personalities on the air not just on our show but on the air you got a west michigan you're probably the most popular aside from free

02:10:47 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 3:

Baron Hot Wings, but maybe I can get them to come.

02:10:52 - 02:11:08 | Speaker 2:

Mike from Mojo in the Morning, the pride of building high school, building the home of Gus Macker Basketball. What's a cow crap? And Mike from Mojo in the Morning. This is Mojo in the Morning. See, you even have Deep Voice Guy doing that for you.

02:11:08 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 3:

What do I do, though? Like, what do I like? How do I make this big? Mojo, you want to come?

02:11:13 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 5:

Well, not even Mojo. I'm thinking, you know, it depends on when the reunion is, if maybe that your wife is too pregnant and too tired. Maybe you flex and you bring, like, Doja Cat to the reunion.

02:11:24 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 3:

So, you want to hear something funny? This wasn't a joke I should have made. I'm saying this in advance. But we are talking about this. And I'm like, man, it's not until July. I was like, man, you know what I should do, Allie? I was like, I should bring some kind of celebrity with me, like, as a date. And I got the stare, the death stare. And she goes, she goes, you mean me? And I went, that's exactly what I meant.

02:11:48 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 4:

You know what's funny? I don't even want to go to my own high school reunion, but I'd rather go to yours than go to mine. For some reason, I don't want to see the people I went to high school with. And the ones I wanted to see or want to see, I talk to fairly frequently. I've got probably like five or six that I'm still friends with. But, like, my buddy Brad Yeager will go, hey, do you remember, you know, Dan Campbell? No, that's a bad name. It's a fake name. It's Dan. That's the Lions coach. Yeah, I went to high school with the Lions coach. He'll, like, say that, and I'll go, no. And he'll go, you don't remember him? And I'll be like, no. And he goes, you sat next to him in every single class or whatever. I go, I don't remember him. Like, we were never really, like, that good of friends even after high school that we kept in touch. I know Tom Barrett. i know brad yeager uh i know uh tom saxton i know like i can go through the whole list and but i look at your reunion and i don't know are you friends with any of these people

02:12:48 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 3:

i haven't talked to uh probably a good percentage in a very very long time because most of my friends out of high school went to like either like the army or or they they moved out of the state so i mean i i talked to them through like facebook or like texting whatever yeah but as far as like in town no i haven't really talked to anybody in a long time yeah see i see i i would almost rather

02:13:07 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 4:

go to your high school reunion because it'd be more interesting to me to see what your high school people that you went to you know school with or look like nowadays than the people that i went

02:13:16 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 3:

to school with you know i think it would be fun only because i could i could bring i could bring even though i live here yeah i haven't seen anybody in so long i could go back with anything and they would be like oh my god that's so awesome you showed up in a helicopter how did you show up

02:13:29 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 4:

You don't want to be the guy that rents a Porsche Or a Corvette

02:13:34 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 5:

Because then it looks like you're trying too hard I don't know I skipped seven consecutive reunions I have no interest in going to a high school reunion

02:13:43 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 4:

What was the one Remy Something Michelle's high school reunion Romy and Michelle

02:13:48 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 1:

How dare you She invented the sticky post-it That's it okay What's up Rebecca I do love that movie hi good morning good morning what's going on so i graduated it was 10 years ago last year in 2012 and we had our reunion and they were getting together on facebook and like what mike mike saying like you know i'm trying to communicate and plan stuff and our class president took control and she was going way overboard making it super strict being like no kids no spouses make sure you do this and do that wear this and wear that oh god yeah and then to top it off she wanted us to pay to go and i was like i was hardly gonna go if it was free well they got to pay for the

02:14:33 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 5:

rental of the space right and to decorate we're reading at a park oh if you've got a park or

02:14:39 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

something that's a park and she wanted us to maybe pay for just pay a nominal fee for food and drink or something well she wanted to make a raffle oh okay and even if you didn't want to participate in the raffle you still had to pay to go yeah did you want to see your friends or you didn't care anyway i don't care to see the people i went to high school with so if i had a

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 3:

I hated high school.

02:15:02 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 1:

High school, to me, was the worst time of my life.

02:15:05 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 3:

Agreed.

02:15:05 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 1:

The last thing in the world I want to do is go back to that time of my life.

02:15:08 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Literally could not pay me to go there.

02:15:10 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Savannah?

02:15:11 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I was on with you guys yesterday. KP just called me again. How are you? Oh, really?

02:15:16 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 1:

I love it. By the way, we only have five listeners because we have multiples today. What's going on?

02:15:22 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 3:

So, same thing as kind of the previous caller. They wanted us to pay like $100 to go. It was at a really crappy place And we just were like Every single person from high school That we liked We were in contact with them I don't want to see those people ever again The only thing worse than high school was middle school

02:15:40 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny The group of our friends Just all get together anyway during the holidays But maybe you do that Mike, you want to go?

02:15:49 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 2:

No, I had a very mediocre time at high school It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great I'm interested to see what everybody's doing nowadays, but after that, like, I'm gone. I'm not going back again.

02:16:00 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 1:

Melissa says, Allie, don't go to the reunion. Why is that, Melissa?

02:16:04 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 4:

No, no, I didn't say that. I said my husband, I'm actually six years older than my husband, so he just had his 10-year reunion, and I went with him because I'm actually from Tucson, Arizona, so I'm nowhere near there. And when I went there, my husband is, like, super scrawny when he was in high school, So he didn't really, like, have a lot of girlfriends. So when he went to the school union, everyone was like, holy crap. Like, he was completely different. And they were like, your wife is a smoke show. And I was like, yeah, this would have never happened at my school union.

02:16:38 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 1:

That's funny. Where did you go to high school in Tucson? My wife's from Tucson.

02:16:42 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 4:

I went to Sienega High School.

02:16:44 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay, she went to Santa Rita.

02:16:46 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 4:

Okay, yeah.

02:16:48 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of different high schools, Dylan, what did you want to say to Mike?

02:16:52 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 6:

Oh, so I went to Greenville High School. I'm a 2012 graduate. So it's kind of nice to know that somebody I listen to on the radio every morning on my way to work went to my enemy high school.

02:17:06 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 2:

If there's somebody on the phone, you can just hang up right now.

02:17:11 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 5:

Exposing useless men. One a-hole at a time. War of the Roses is coming up in minutes.

02:17:16 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 3:

The War of the Roses.

02:17:18 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 5:

On Mojo in the Morning. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:17:24 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 1:

Coming up in moments, we are giving you a chance to win $1,000. So we'll have that for you and also Taylor Swift tickets. So that will be towards 930. First, though, I want to say this. If you think that you are being cheated on, if you think somebody that you're in a relationship with is cheating on you, text cheater to 95500 and we will get you on a future war of the roses. Okay, so text cheater to 95500. Last week we caught a woman cheating. This week, wait till you hear with a three-way call.

02:17:58 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 5:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. Get your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:04 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 1:

Taylor thinks that his girlfriend is cheating on him, and it's been because she's been acting weird towards you?

02:18:11 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's right.

02:18:12 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 1:

What's the deal? What do you mean by acting weird?

02:18:15 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 7:

Started off with just some fighting and arguing and stuff. It lasted for a little longer than, you know, usual, like a couple weeks. And there's other stuff, too, you know, that you kind of notice.

02:18:26 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 1:

Is the fighting happening because of something in your relationship? Like, is there a strain in your relationship, or why do you guys think you're fighting?

02:18:33 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 7:

You know, that's the thing. I don't really know why. That's one of the reasons why I think something's up. Like, there's no real reason. At first, I thought, like, you know, whatever. This is just, you know, she's cranky because it's her time of the month or whatever. And then it just kept going.

02:18:51 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 6:

You said there was some other stuff. What's the other stuff you noticed?

02:18:54 - 02:19:11 | Speaker 7:

Well, she had been talking to her ex-boyfriend. Why? Like the number. I don't know. The number would pop up every once in a while and see it, you know, and then I'd bring it up.

02:19:11 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 6:

What would she say when you brought it up?

02:19:14 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 7:

She was just like, oh, there's a friend of theirs, a mutual friend of theirs that was having some trouble, and they wanted to talk about it.

02:19:22 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 1:

I think it's interesting that you said in the email that you sent to us, you said that you think that she is purposely fighting with you because she doesn't have the guts to break up with you, and you think that she's cheating with her ex. So you think that she's causing fights just to get you to not be into her anymore.

02:19:41 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 7:

I think she's just kind of provoking me and kind of pushing me so that I'll be the one to break up with her because, you know, for whatever reason, she doesn't want to, she doesn't have the guts or she is just, you know, doesn't want to tell people like, oh, I broke up with Ann, but she wants to.

02:20:00 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 3:

She wants to be, oh, he broke up with me type of stuff. Okay.

02:20:03 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 1:

That kind of person. We have the ex's phone number, and we have her phone number. We're going to do a three-way call right now. It's a Mojo in the Morning three-way War of the Roses where we call both of them at the same time to see how they talk to each other. Hang on. Do not say a word, okay?

02:20:17 - 02:20:17 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:20:30 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 2:

hello hello hey hey what are you doing

02:20:47 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 4:

hello hey why are you acting weird what's going on nothing what are you doing

02:20:55 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 2:

02:21:27 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh. So should I come over? Uh, yeah. All right. Well, I got to go to my mom's because, um, cable to Comcast people are coming and she's got to do some errands and stuff. So I got to go there. All right. Do you want me to come over there instead? Well, no, she'll freak the out if she finds out about us.

02:21:52 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 1:

Samantha, how do you think Taylor is going to feel about you getting back together with Bobby, but yet not telling him? Who the f*** is this? This is the Mojo in the Morning Show, and Taylor is on the phone with us right now listening to your conversation with Bobby.

02:22:09 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. What's up, Samantha? Thanks a lot for f***ing being honest with me.

02:22:17 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's because you say s*** like that that I can't be honest with you.

02:22:25 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 4:

It's because you are s*** like that. That's why I f***ing say it, Samantha. Do you understand? You could have f***ing told me the truth. I f***ing asked you.

02:22:34 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 1:

Taylor, let's take a step back. Samantha. Taylor, I get you're upset by this and I get you're pissed off. But I think he's got all the information he needs

02:22:51 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to listen to her excuses Are you? No

02:22:54 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 1:

Whatever Let me take you off the air We got to talk a little bit off the air So I'm not having to bleep the crap out of this Ha ha Busted again

02:23:07 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 4:

It's your home for War of the Roses Mojo in the morning

02:23:14 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 1:

Don't miss this When we come back here in a second A lot of listeners are asking how long Has Taylor been in a relationship with her We'll find out Plus I wanted to ask this question I think this can get some good Response from you and maybe Help him out Who thinks that their significant Other is still having Feelings Or possibly even fooling around with their ex 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548.

02:23:48 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 4:

More Mojo in minutes. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

02:24:06 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning show. Busted a cheater just a little bit ago with a Mojo in the morning three-way call, War of the Roses. So Taylor had suspicion that his girlfriend, Samantha, was cheating on him. How long have you guys been in a relationship? Like two years almost, coming up on two years. And when was the last time that she was with this other guy, this Bobby guy?

02:24:33 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 3:

I mean, she told me, you know, like about a month before we started dating. So, you know, over two months ago.

02:24:42 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Why is he such a bad guy? Why is it that her family doesn't like him? Well, he's not the... Well, you f*** it. Watch if you can. No more swearing at all, okay? I know you're upset, but we're not going to be able to talk on the air. Why is he a bad guy?

02:25:00 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 3:

he was just reeling the drugs for a while you know he was pretty abusive verbally and physically once with her um and you know he just kind of he borrows money all the time he was just a real scumbag you know he's just a real kid sorry a real jerk yeah all right um all right i want to

02:25:22 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 2:

go a couple places with this. First, I wanted to ask a quick question to anybody that is in a relationship where their significant others are still involved with their ex, like where they're still talking. Who thinks that their significant other is still having feelings for their ex, and that bothers them, that worries them. Or, plain and simple, maybe the more drastic, who thinks that their significant other is fooling around with their ex or doing other stuff with their ex? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I'm glad we got a chance to do a three-way call, War of the Roses. I feel like listeners haven't had an opportunity to hear one in some time.

02:26:35 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to work today? No, I'm staying home. Jimmy called. They can't for work.

02:26:41 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh. So should I come over?

02:26:43 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 2:

uh yeah all right um i mean you read into it pretty much everything but i mean that one i think was more than just reading into it i think there's something going on now i would love to do a three-way on my wife where i just called hey now somebody's gonna take that statement out of context another topic um no i would i would love to have i would love to have a converse have her listen to her conversation with somebody and to hear them talking about me like i would like to know like what is actually said uh you know what they say about eavesdropers

02:27:24 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 1:

yeah ever hear anything that you want to hear but also chelsea is the kind of woman like your wife will tell you anything to your face it's true you can be like chelsea how do

02:27:33 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 2:

feel right now and she'll be very blunt and honest i asked uh chelsea uh yesterday to tell me the the things that most annoy her of of me and and no because there was a study that was that was a trending story and maybe i'll reveal it uh later this morning because it was kind of interesting but uh jesse what's up it's mojo in the morning war of the roses what'd you want to

02:27:53 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 5:

say hey guys i just wanted to say um a lot of times when you guys do the war of the roses and If the husband's cheating, we're always saying, oh, women, we should trust our guts, you know, trust your intuition. But I think as humans, like, our intuition is there for a reason, and we should listen to it. You know, if he was feeling like something was off, like, trust that.

02:28:15 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely. And you know what? I think that enough times we don't trust our intuition. Joshua wants to talk about the exes and still having feelings for the exes. What's going on, Joshua?

02:28:27 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 4:

So I know this ain't a popular opinion, but I actually believe it's perfectly natural. I mean, I'm not saying that you're going to still be in love with that individual, but you are going to still care about them in a sense. You want them to be safe, even if you never talk to them again. Maybe not right away, obviously, if bridges are burned. But I can honestly say that I have been friends with most of my exes throughout the years, and people I am in relationship with, I'm fully transparent with them, and I even invite them to take part in the conversation. So I have nothing to hide.

02:28:55 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 2:

But have you ever, though, had feelings for them to the point that you had to, like, stop yourself?

02:29:02 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 4:

No, because I'm the type of person that once I've said goodbye in that regard, whether it's a relationship or a job, I don't go back because I left for a reason. And, you know, that can be hard to do sometimes. And I've had the phone calls where they've asked me back, but there was a reason why it didn't work out. And going back to that wouldn't be healthy. So, yeah, that's why I think it's perfectly okay. And then if they push it too far, that's where you have to be the one that draws a line and says, hey, listen, you need to stop.

02:29:31 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 2:

But you agree that this was not an appropriate one, though, right, from hearing them talk?

02:29:35 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, because this isn't just feelings. This is acting out on those feelings. This is, you know, even if it's just physical, you are still acting out on it.

02:29:43 - 02:29:51 | Speaker 2:

And unlike you, you did. You were open and honest about it. They're doing it behind, you know, Taylor's back. What's going on, Amy?

02:29:52 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. Hi. I wanted to tell you that I was married for 15 years and I always felt like.

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 1:

Like, during those years that my ex-husband now had feelings for his ex-girlfriend, and we got divorced, and six months later, he married his ex-girlfriend from 15 years ago. Oh, my God.

02:30:11 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 3:

Jeez.

02:30:12 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:30:12 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:30:13 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So, I mean, I don't trust that, and they should never be talking to the ex. You know? That's ridiculous. There's no reason.

02:30:19 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 3:

So you just say, just cut it all off? It's too tempting?

02:30:22 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 1:

I know that they had talked while we were married, so he actually confessed that to me, so they had kept in contact, but it was obviously secretive. And then we got divorced. And now they're engaged.

02:30:34 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Well, that's not good. Terrell or Terrell? Yeah, hello. Which one? It's got to be Terrell, right?

02:30:47 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's Terrell.

02:30:48 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Terrell.

02:30:49 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Yeah, I'm calling because I feel like that whole situation with Terrell was kind of messed up. Like, the fact that she was on the phone with her ex. which i feel like i mean i'm not gonna say men don't do it but i feel like females still have that emotional attachment to to like their exes and stuff so i feel like it mostly be females that go back to the ex and then it's just funny that the moment she got caught and she realized that she got caught the first thing that she did was try to blame him like like oh this is the reason like so why why if this is the reason why it wasn't been bought up so i can try to fix it at least or yeah i can just end it for now it happens with every time we catch a cheater whether

02:31:35 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 3:

the cheater is male or female they always end up doing that they all turn it around yeah like why

02:31:41 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 4:

why turn it around because you got caught you feel like i just feel like that's funny do you

02:31:46 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 3:

like uh when we do the three-way call where we seek you know secretly call up and catch them

02:31:51 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 4:

talking to each other do you like that one yeah i mean it's cool like i sometimes i kind of be feeling bad because like i'd be feeling bad for the people that's like getting cheated on because i know it's kind of like embarrassing but yeah like it's just like like it's best to know then not to know and then you're laying in the bed with somebody that would do something like that

02:32:09 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 3:

yeah and if you think that your significant other is cheating text cheater to 95500 uh thanks buddy

02:32:15 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 4:

for the call appreciate it yeah no problem appreciate it it's a mojo in the morning

02:32:20 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 3:

02:32:55 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 megan with what's trending in the dirty on the 30 filling

02:33:01 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 6:

in for shannon this morning what you got so today new mexico prosecutors they are going to reveal whether or not um they're going to bring some criminal charges against alec baldwin um for that fatal shooting that happened on the set of Rust. Remember, this is what Alex said of his innocence back when it happened.

02:33:17 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 3:

So you never pulled the trigger? No, no, no, no, no. I would never point a gun at anyone and pull a trigger

02:33:21 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 6:

at them, never. He actually accidentally, I don't know, have we ever found out if he did pull the trigger or not and he was just saying that?

02:33:29 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 3:

They said there's no way that that gun goes off by him not putting his finger

02:33:33 - 02:33:45 | Speaker 6:

on it. Because he also admitted that he pulled back the hammer and when you pull back the hammer, the trigger becomes very sensitive. like so you don't have to make a pulling motion to still set off the trigger the big debate was

02:33:45 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 2:

who was who was responsible also because of the person in charge of the firearms on the set may not have properly secured them or maybe there was live ammo on set so it's a big blame game still

02:33:56 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 6:

and while we're going to hear from the district attorney later on today to see whether or not there will be charges in this case this is what they had to say back when it took place in october

02:34:03 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 5:

There's no evidence that this was intentional. This was clearly an accident, but perhaps a criminal accident. Just because something is an accident doesn't mean that a criminal act didn't occur.

02:34:17 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 6:

Do you think charges are going to come?

02:34:19 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 3:

I can't see how they can't bring charges. If they're going to bring charges against anybody on that side, he's the guy with the gun in his hand. It doesn't make a difference whether you thought that there was no bullets or not.

02:34:28 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, not just that. He's the producer of the movie, so the buck stops there.

02:34:33 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 3:

It's interesting because remember he also Paid off her husband To get the Civil stuff to go away But this is now the criminal stuff So you can't pay off a government to do that Well I guess you could

02:34:46 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 6:

I think history would tell you

02:34:48 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 3:

So sports commentator

02:34:51 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 6:

Stephen A. Smith He made a lot of enemies yesterday A lot of enemies when it came to Rihanna's fan base Because he went on the Sherry show You

02:35:00 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 3:

with Sherry Shepard, and Sherry asked him what he thought about Rihanna as a headliner for this year's Super Bowl halftime show. He praised Rihanna extensively, saying that she was spectacular, congratulating her on being a new mother, and Sherry said, I sense a butt coming, and there was, and he said, but she ain't Beyonce. So people literally lost their minds, and he had to put out a public apology where he It sounds like he works for a specific phone number company.

02:35:31 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 1:

Rihanna, go do your thing. I apologize for creating whatever brouhaha comes of this. I got to be more careful where people twist it and turn it into something it ain't. My bad on that.

02:35:47 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 5:

My bad. You think he's being sultry, but Mike and I watch Stephen A. Smith all the time, and that's just Stephen A. Smith.

02:35:52 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 3:

It is? You call me dramatic? Listen to that man talk.

02:35:56 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I love it. I love it so much, and not in that moment, but I love watching him all the time because he's always like, my good friend Tom Brady just said.

02:36:05 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 2:

Would he like to comment on Taylor Swift or BTS, maybe? Like, I mean, he just likes to rile up those fans.

02:36:11 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, speaking of fans and fandoms, can we say Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has a fandom at this point? Because I think so. I think you can. I told you.

02:36:20 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 5:

If they run for political office in the U.S., they could probably win with all the book sales that they had.

02:36:24 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't think either of them particularly want to. I think they have other endeavors. And also, they've got a pretty good gig right now not working a 9-to-5 every day. Do you really want to sign up for that kind of life? But apparently, according to the Daily Mail, their approval rating is not doing nearly as hot as they were about 30 days ago. I'm saying that they're dropping into the gutters, which I kind of find a little bit ridiculous when you look at how many books Prince Harry has sold. What, it's the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time?

02:36:53 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 5:

Are those hate purchasers, though? Because sometimes people do that. They hate somebody and they'll go still see the movie or buy their book.

02:37:00 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 3:

Here's why I say no. Don't get me wrong. I love to hate watch. I love to hate listen. I love to hate everything. It is my pure passion in life is hate.

02:37:11 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm glad you're admitting it. But hate reading is another level.

02:37:14 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 3:

And the money then goes directly to him. So if you really, truly hate him and you buy his book, are you comfortable giving him your money, especially when all of the information is going to be talked about on shows like ours on tiktok on every you don't really have to buy a memoir anymore to get all the details inside of it people are going to talk about it if it's popular enough and clearly his is popular because it's one of the biggest selling non-fiction books of all time so i don't think so i think this is a lot of praise

02:37:42 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 5:

and a lot of people like him i don't know i know a lot of people that they buy books not just for self-help reasons, but for self-hurt reasons. They buy books of people that they hate just to read.

02:37:56 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's a new level of it.

02:37:58 - 02:38:10 | Speaker 5:

And I know two people seriously that are very close to me that watch the Kardashians hating them so much. Hating everything they're about, but still watch the show just to complain about it.

02:38:10 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 3:

I love it. I love it. Thank you. Thank you for keeping space in your mind rent-free for all of these people. Carol Baskin's Husband. Not dead. Speaking of hate. Speaking of Carole Baskins. No, it's dead. It's dead. Oh, I'm getting my own story wrong. Her husband? So, Carole Baskins, you remember in Tiger King, they talked about how she may or may not have fed her first husband to a tiger.

02:38:33 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 2:

We remember. It gave us something to talk about for the first six months of the pandemic.

02:38:37 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 3:

We love it. Well, there was an internet rumor going around that her first husband was found alive in Costa Rica. But local police are saying, that's news to us. According to them, Don Lewis is still missing. So if you've seen that rumor floating around on the internet, just know that it is not the case. Don has been presumed to be dead since 2002. And then two really quick stories for both of you. Megan, we talked about it earlier, that kind of horror movie robot girl was so popular. It actually made $91 million, only cost $12 million to make. That is going to get a sequel coming in 2025. And this one specifically is for you, Mojo. Ted Lasso Season 3. is coming. Apple just revealed that season three of Ted Lasso is set to return to the small screen coming this spring. No specific date, but it will be this spring. But there's a lot of speculation that this might be the end of Ted Lasso. Jason Sudeikis, who obviously plays Ted in Ted Lasso, said in an interview back in 2021 that he only envisioned three seasons for the character Brett Goldstein, who we absolutely love and adore. He plays Roy Kent on the show. He's one of the writers. He recently confessed that season three was written as the end of the road, saying, spoiler alert.

02:39:49 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 5:

Luke and I want to go watch a European soccer game, not because we like soccer, just because we like Ted Lasso.

Oh, good. Hi. This is Nikki Cappuccino. So I'm going to be selling coffee and donuts out in your parking lot to customers that don't want to wait in your long line in the morning.

02:42:19 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 5:

02:42:20 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, I can do anything I put my mind to. We're not asking you to do that. No, I know you're not asking me to. I'm doing it as a favor to help you guys because, I mean, that line is so crazy. The drive-thru in the morning is crazy nuts. I'm just going to take the pressure off for you. So I already have a bunch. I'll sell them tomorrow morning.

02:42:39 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 5:

You're not going to be allowed on our property to sell donuts in the parking lot. Right.

02:42:45 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 4:

Okay. No, I'm going next door in that pizza place across right there in the same parking lot. And listen, if anyone wants like a cold brew or an ice drink, I'll still send those customers back to you. I'm only going to sell hot coffee and donuts.

02:42:58 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 5:

I think that's perhaps maybe opening up their own donut shop.

02:43:01 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy, I think your headset's crapping out on me there. Are you still there? You are not allowed to do this. I got you. I heard you say I'm allowed to do this. That's what I heard.

02:43:11 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 5:

No, you're not allowed to do this.

02:43:12 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 4:

Are you hearing there's like bad feedback or some static or something?

we will we will scam you you're home with the phone scams this is mojo in the morning

02:44:02 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 6:

mojo in the morning show so we were hanging out with some friends and my buddy will brought up something that i think is a potential topic here on the uh the show and you guys tell me your thoughts on this one if you go over to a friend's house to eat and the food just ain't no good wasn't that isn't that from like an old rap song i think it is um if you go over to a friend's house is it rude to ask the people whose home that you're going to for their wi-fi password or is it just normal that they should actually actually probably have it on a sheet at the door like so you can just write it down

02:45:00 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 2:

You know how people will have that? Like if you go to a doctor's office, it will say, Dr. Anderson's Wi-Fi password is, you know, whatever. Cavity.

02:45:09 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 6:

Sorry.

02:45:10 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 2:

So we were hanging out with our friends, Will and Jessica, and Will finds it rude to ask for your Wi-Fi password. He said that you should not ask for that, which is interesting because there's a lot of things that Will has done that I think are rude. And I don't think this is one that is rude But is it rude to ask Like if I Why am I asking Spike if I come over to your house I know that she's never going to let me at her house We're sitting in your driveway and we need your wifi

02:45:40 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 6:

Not even then I don't think it's rude but I do think it's embarrassing To ask for it

02:45:46 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 3:

Why is it embarrassing

02:45:47 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 6:

Because it means that my data is out And I can't afford more so I need wifi

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean data is out Nobody pays for data You have unlimited now Nobody pays for minutes and stuff.

02:45:57 - 02:45:59 | Speaker 6:

Everybody pays for data. What are you talking about?

02:45:59 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 2:

On your phone? Yeah. So your Wi-Fi is your phone? You use your phone for your Wi-Fi? And you don't actually have, like...

02:46:05 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

You run out of data on a monthly basis? Yeah, they don't. Your plan is so little.

02:46:09 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 2:

Are you buying this from somebody's garage? Where are you going to be your internet from? Honestly. Were you just saying that as an example, and that's a joke?

02:46:15 - 02:46:21 | Speaker 6:

No, it'll slow down your phone. You never hit your limit, and then it's... Oh, yeah, you still have data, but it's unusable.

02:46:21 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 3:

If you have a shared...

02:46:23 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, look who's saying I'm right now.

02:46:24 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 3:

No, if you had a shared account, my daughters used to only, they would never put their Wi-Fi on in the house, and they would stream stuff for three weeks straight, and then we would hit our max, and then it, yeah, you don't run out, it's just slow, they put you on the slower bandwidth. Yeah. But there's nothing wrong with asking for someone, I'll share my Wi-Fi with you, but I understand some people are concerned if they have certain jobs or they're afraid of hacking or something like that.

02:46:46 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 6:

I guess the only rude part for me would be that I'm embarrassed by my password, so, like, I don't want to tell you what it is. Just hand me your phone and I'll type it in.

02:46:54 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 2:

Can I say this, though, with the password thing? I don't want to share it with a neighbor. Like, if my neighbor, you know, Jen comes and says, hey, can I have your Wi-Fi password? I'm not going to share with her because there's a potential that she's still using my Wi-Fi password if she's close enough. You don't call your Wi-Fi something so nobody touches it? I have my Wi-Fi listed as my dog's name.

02:47:18 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 6:

Is it really?

02:47:19 - 02:47:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:47:19 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 6:

You want to know what mine is? Panic at the Cisco.

02:47:25 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 2:

That's actually good.

02:47:26 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so it's funny that you mentioned not to give neighbors Wi-Fi password because we had a little predicament in the Penrose household where my brother Aaron was giving all of the neighbor kids our Wi-Fi password and they would use it all at the same time. And my mom was getting so mad because our internet was so slow.

02:47:43 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 3:

Plus, if some people use the same password for everything and if they have the same password for their Wi-Fi they have for everything else, they don't want to share it.

02:47:51 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 2:

Cassidy, what's going on?

02:47:52 - 02:48:00 | Speaker 4:

hey um my wi-fi is on my fridge for everybody to see as soon as you walk inside it's right here

02:48:00 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 2:

the name password you got you got the sign up like that like i was saying at the doctor's office they always have the sign up i actually thought about doing this with xfinity so i do xfinity you know uh as commercials i love xfinity um and i actually have my wi-fi set up in a way where i thought about doing this and i told the guys that i that i you know hey can i do it put a guest password down or put a guest part of it on so it would be like kind of you know you're using my wi-fi but then i can also dump you off of it with the app so i can take you off of it

02:48:36 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 6:

later which i love but again what password do you use because i feel like that's the most judgmental part of this is when they say what's your password well what do you say i'm with my

02:48:45 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 2:

apple phone sometimes i can actually just share it to them and they don't see it okay see that's

02:48:49 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I'm just asking somebody. You just click it, and then they get a prompt, and there's no questions asked.

02:48:55 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we'll say share the password. Jeremy, what's going on?

02:49:00 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 1:

How's it going?

02:49:01 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 2:

Good. Is it rude to ask somebody for their Wi-Fi password if you're over at their house?

02:49:07 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 1:

So technically, I have the best Wi-Fi in my neighborhood, so my neighbors actually asked me to connect to mine. And so I haven't paid for Wi-Fi since I don't even remember when because every time somebody asks for it, they either pay me or, like, I'd give them the password. They ask for the password, and the passwords pay me, Brokey. So I don't know.

02:49:28 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 2:

Wait, Jeremy, why is it that you have the best Wi-Fi in your neighborhood and everybody else doesn't? Can't they just get that same Wi-Fi?

02:49:35 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 1:

They can. We just pay extra for it. So instead of them wanting to pay extra, we have multiple people cranking on my Wi-Fi. So it adds up and then it adds up to the bill. So it works.

02:49:45 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

So what are you doing over there, by the way, Reese? Are you building a house or what's going on? I was plugging my phone in the charger while eating a lot of popcorn. I thought Reese was like moving things over there. I'm like, wow, there's a lot of action going on over there.

02:50:00 - 02:50:32 | Speaker 3:

So going back to the up in your Wi-Fi, you did what I did. I upped mine when we had to start doing our shows, potentially from home. And when I had that surgery, I upped it to, like, the business grade Xfinity Wi-Fi. And it's wild when I go to friends' houses and I'll say, hey, can I have your Wi-Fi password? And I'll go on. I'm like, oh, my God. Like, I get, you know what I do? I get judgmental. Like, how do you do this? Like, Jeremy, does that ever happen to you? Like, you go somewhere with bad Wi-Fi, and you're like, my home has better Wi-Fi than this.

02:50:33 - 02:50:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. And I don't even know how they made it through quarantine with everything going online. That's why they upped it, because everybody was using it.

02:50:39 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 3:

In the money situation, it wasn't that much more money.

02:50:43 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 2:

They're already robbing us.

02:50:44 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't know why people don't do it. The price is crazy.

02:50:46 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 3:

I will pay whatever I want. Some people want to drive nice cars. I would rather have good Wi-Fi than, you know?

02:50:55 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 2:

Totally agreed.

02:50:56 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Sarah?

02:50:59 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 2:

hi um i had a story where um my neighbor had asked to borrow my um internet password and i gave it to her because i trusted her and um later my internet started slowing down and um so i checked to see who was logged in and there were all of these people i wasn't familiar with and so later i found out that she'd been selling my internet password uh to neighbors in her apartment complex Oh, my gosh. She had a little side hustle going.

02:51:28 - 02:51:28 | Unknown:

I know.

02:51:28 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 2:

It was crazy. I was so insulted.

02:51:31 - 02:51:36 | Speaker 1:

We're getting sent a ton of Wi-Fi passwords on our chat, so if you want one, we can sell you one.

02:51:38 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

That's kind of crazy, though, that people, you know, you think about that in an apartment homeless, but somebody would take your password, and then next thing you know, everybody else has now got it and getting their free Internet off it. All right. Thank you for the call. Thanks, Sarah. Have a great day.

02:51:54 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

You too. Thanks.

02:51:58 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 3:

We're going to do the word to win $1,000. Coming up here in a second. And Reese, I got something with you I want to talk to you about. And it's not the popcorn. Free food was good today, wasn't it? Today's National Popcorn Day. So Imagine Theater has brought free popcorn in, which is so cool. And I guess they're doing it at all their movies today. They'll give you free popcorn. Talk into that microphone because that microphone sounds like it's back to being bad again.

02:52:23 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 2:

This one?

02:52:24 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 3:

check one check two it sounds good but you just had popcorn in his mouth no i just had a lot of no but i i've been noticing this week a couple of times we might have to get that microphone closer to your mouth because like as close as that popcorn was because a couple times this week we did topics and you would say stuff and i would be like frustrated thinking that the old mic was back that's because a lot of the time i don't even lean over to actually get close to it i kind of just yell and hope that it picks up my voice now you have that mellow this is reese by the way reese our director of social impact you have a very mellow um delivery and you you need to like get right up on that thing okay okay thank you so reese did something to lydia that is is a no-no And actually, let me say this, that Reese cannot be trusted. If Lydia's mom's listening, he cannot be trusted. So, Lydia, what was the story? Your mom had called Reese up and needed some advice from Reese?

02:53:29 - 02:53:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so she was looking to get me a graduation present. And lately, I've been talking about these headphones I've been wanting. And coincidentally, the day after I was talking about the headphones, Reese and I were having a conversation. And he goes, yeah, I've been texting your mom. And I'm like, well, that just kind of gives it away. I'm like, what are you guys talking about? She asked me what to get you as a gift. Really? I love her mom. I love you. Freeze. And I go, is it the Sony headphones? And he goes, you didn't hear it from me. Freeze.

02:53:59 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know. It slipped.

02:54:01 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 1:

It slipped. It slipped. You just gave it away.

02:54:03 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 2:

I was excited for her.

02:54:04 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 1:

He really was. And so a couple days went by, and then my mom gave me the gift. And she was like, don't you like them? And I was like, yeah. like you know and she's like what's wrong and i was like oh oh nothing and i was trying to explain to her that i really did love the gift and i was surprised but i didn't have the heart to tell her that reese had already told me what i was getting oh my god i got excited

02:54:23 - 02:54:32 | Speaker 3:

you didn't even say to her be quiet act surprised i mean actually to be honest with you you should

02:54:32 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 1:

not have said anything at all but are you like he was excited to tell me i just had to confirm

02:54:38 - 02:54:48 | Speaker 3:

that she would actually be excited for it oh so that wait you're saying there was a purpose to why you told her kind of i mean you wanted to make sure that she actually wanted it yeah yeah

02:54:48 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 1:

in reese's defense though like i really don't think he meant like ill will towards it but i do think that it put me in an awkward position when my mom presents me with a gift she's been wanting to get me and i'm just like ah

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, thanks, Mom.

02:55:01 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 4:

Who's the person that you cannot tell a secret to? Like, on this show, I would have thought Reese would have been a good secret keeper. No. He's just self-admitted.

02:55:11 - 02:55:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm not good. Definitely not.

02:55:13 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 4:

See, I have to tell you that I used to be that person that was not the secret keeper. I'm better now at secret keeping than Reese is.

02:55:20 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 2:

You know how they say loose lips sink ships? Yeah. Here, it was loose lips are mojo.

02:55:26 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 4:

Do you know the sales department? I was walking to go to the bathroom, and they were all having their meeting, and one of the salespeople, Imani, said, hey, Mojo, I was going, oh, I can't tell you. And I said, why can't you tell me? She goes, because anything I tell you goes right on the radio. And I go, then don't tell me, because I don't even want to know about it.

02:55:42 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 6:

I still don't tell you things.

02:55:44 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, now you know who not to tell, too.

02:55:47 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 6:

I don't tell anybody around here anything. Anything. All of you are to not be trusted. I am the only person around here, and you would think it was not me, who knows how to keep a secret.

02:55:57 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 4:

So you're saying on a scale of trustworthiness, you're the most trustworthy, and Mike, you disagree with that?

02:56:03 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, why do you disagree, Mike?

02:56:05 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 8:

Because yesterday you just told me that when we were talking on the Slightly Messy show that you had a big lunch with KP a while ago, and you were just telling her all these bad things about me, and I don't think you were supposed to tell me that at all.

02:56:17 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 5:

Wait, I'm not keeping it a secret. That was just me admitting that I had said something bad about you. If anything, that makes me more trustworthy because I'll tell you to your face.

02:56:25 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 8:

No, you probably weren't supposed to say that. I mean, you probably weren't supposed to tell me that. Yeah.

02:56:30 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if you know how secrets work, Mike.

02:56:34 - 02:56:50 | Speaker 4:

It's no secret. Hold on. Somebody's on the phone right now that wants to talk to Reese. Who is this on the phone? Mom. This is Lydia's mom, Reese. It's my boo thing. What's up, Diane?

02:56:51 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 7:

Hello, Reese.

02:56:52 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

02:56:53 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 7:

you know up until sunday early morning or saturday early morning when i was listening to lydia on air i really loved you i spilled the beans in my show on the weekend so she heard lydia made that part of her little um i don't know what you call it but she was talking about it on air so it's not like i could i could you know dang mom you're fast live on air and oh my god Reese I wanted to ring your freaking neck

02:57:24 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 2:

you thought you scored with a great gift idea

02:57:29 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 4:

yes I will say this in defense of Reese sometimes you think somebody wants a gift and then you give the advice yeah get this and then they don't react right he would have been smart just to make sure that he told you Lydia don't tell your mom you know or don't say anything that would have been the smart thing to do that was i don't think

02:57:52 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 2:

that was his motivation and sharing to make sure that she liked the headphones you know what though

02:57:56 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 7:

reese is pretty trustworthy right is he no i am i am pretty yeah i'm good yeah really what it

02:58:02 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 4:

depends what secrets are you guys keeping reese uh i almost got you to walk right into that one all right we'll talk to you later talk to you lydia i always call your mom just lydia's mom Isn't that weird that I always do that? Hi, Lydia's mom.

02:58:19 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 7:

You can call her Cyan.

02:58:20 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 4:

I feel weird calling her by her first name. She's your mom.

02:58:23 - 02:58:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, same.

02:58:24 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I just feel, you know.

02:58:25 - 02:58:27 | Speaker 7:

Even you, Megan? Yeah, it feels disrespectful.

02:58:27 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:58:28 - 02:58:35 | Speaker 7:

Mom, what would you prefer? Lydia's mom or Cyan? Well, Lydia's mom. I love it.

02:58:35 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 8:

I love it. All right. Those are in the morning's top trending stories.

02:58:40 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 4:

All right, top trending stories of the day. Let me see what I got here today. Megan pretty much covered them all in the dirty on the 30 reports. No, oh, I got some good ones. This is like word of warning. I'll start off with this one. Our good friend Hank Winchester over at Local 4 in Detroit did a story about people who are buying Taylor Swift tickets only to get scammed. Listen up, because this could be you.

02:59:07 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 1:

After not being able to get the tickets, it was, like, really devastating to my daughter because the concert's on her 13th birthday. It was like the one thing she wanted.

02:59:15 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 3:

Heidi Smith still can't believe she fell for it, but the ads online look so legit. Taylor Swift tickets, Ford Field, $300 a piece.

02:59:25 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 1:

So it seemed like, okay, this person's making a little bit, but it's like legitimate.

02:59:30 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 3:

She sent two payments, $300 each, to two different Venmo accounts. She then circled back to the person that she believes was selling the tickets, Donna Thomas. And then Donna vanished.

02:59:43 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 1:

immediately it said like this person's not available on messenger like I was immediately blocked I went to look at the post is gone no Taylor Swift tickets $600 gone they told my daughter before I'm like okay like that this came about and I asked her like is this what you really want like this is gonna be your gift like party like this is everything and she's like yes and she's just sitting there with me the whole time trying to do it and she's like so excited i can't wait to text her friends and then that happened and i like had to tell her actually we were just scammed heidi did some more digging and learned that she's likely not the only victim i found other like a few other recent names um and one said like they had paid rent to the person and he's like well actually i was just like scammed i think um he lives in florida i just don't want other people to be scammed that way why are people

03:00:34 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 4:

turning towards those type of like facebook and things like that to buy it i know they're

03:00:41 - 03:00:48 | Speaker 3:

don't if the deal's too good to be true it's not a good deal well other than that ticketmaster and

03:00:48 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 2:

a lot of these other sites have made it nearly impossible for you to resell tickets so you have to do them in these like shady deals i when i saw harry styles in new york i was trying to sell some of my tickets and new york state law was that you couldn't resale within like 48 hours and it's

03:01:02 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 4:

trying to prevent even on like a like stub hub or one of those you could not relist the tickets and

03:01:07 - 03:01:19 | Speaker 2:

it was so frustrating because so many people get scammed and i understand why the law is there it's to prevent um the scalpers the scalpers yeah but it also hinders the same price for face value

03:01:19 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 3:

or i think it's even up to 10 over face value that you're allowed to do that you are in possession you own those tickets, you're allowed to sell them.

03:01:27 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 2:

They're yours. But Ticketmaster won't let you relist them. And it's so frustrating because they could. You should be able to.

03:01:33 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 4:

You reported in your Dirty earlier this morning that Ticketmaster is going to be called to task because Congress is actually going to be investigating them. So they actually are going to do a hearing to investigate them about

03:01:43 - 03:01:44 | Speaker 2:

Taylor Swift. And is anything going to happen?

03:01:45 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 3:

Probably not. Just be careful. All the parents are so upset and willing to do anything to make their kids happy with tickets and adults that want to go to these shows. But just realize, if it's not a some sort of verified site you're there's a good chance they put this the scams out on these popular tickets because they know people are emotional when they buy them and if you get

03:02:04 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 4:

screwed over help me hank call hank winchester um you want to sleep better i've got the perfect songs to add to your playlist according to researchers they found that it's not a one size fit all type situation when you are trying to fall asleep listening to music but they did find that there was a little bit of commonality in the songs that were most popular. I don't know if I could fall asleep to this song, but this is one of the songs that tracks that are popular songs to fall asleep to. Dynamite from BTS.

03:02:40 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 3:

I'm with you. It's too high energy. Yeah.

03:02:44 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 2:

It's been a mellow.

03:02:46 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 3:

You think so? Or is it just that BTS fans leave it on repeat for 24 hours? Probably.

03:02:53 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 4:

Um, this is another one of those songs that is good to fall asleep to.

03:02:58 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 2:

I could fall asleep to that. Yeah.

03:03:04 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 4:

Billie Eilish. And Khalid. The reason why these songs are the most popular songs to fall asleep to. They say if you want to sleep better, fall asleep to songs that you know that are familiar. Familiarity in the songs makes your brain rest a little bit more. Because if you're not familiar with the songs, it says, according to researchers, that you don't get into enough deep sleep, enough REM. And they say that that is because you're thinking too much about the song that you're listening to. So it's not slow versus fast. It's no versus unknown I kind of get that I'll try to have music on And if a song's on I'll be like what is that Or I want to skip it Because I don't know it so much It's not familiar

03:03:56 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 2:

How can you fall asleep to music?

03:03:59 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 4:

You don't do that?

03:04:00 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 2:

No either ASMR videos Or like 12 hour spa music Or a thunderstorm playlist

03:04:08 - 03:04:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how people fall asleep to TV Because then sometimes Like the commercials come on 10 times as loud or you have like sirens in a TV show.

03:04:16 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 2:

Can you guys sleep in the dark, though? I can't sleep in the dark.

03:04:18 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:04:19 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I have to sleep.

03:04:20 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 2:

Uh-uh.

03:04:20 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 4:

Really?

03:04:21 - 03:04:21 | Speaker 2:

Nope.

03:04:21 - 03:04:22 | Speaker 4:

You sleep with the lights on?

03:04:22 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 2:

Not like overhead lights, but lights. I cannot fall asleep in the dark. Are you afraid of the dark? Yes. Really? Yes. Wow.

03:04:31 - 03:04:31 | Speaker 4:

Boo.

03:04:33 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 2:

It's not that. It's more like somebody's going to come out of my closet and murder me.

03:04:36 - 03:04:47 | Speaker 4:

Girl Scout cookies are welcoming a new cookie And it comes from the same line of Thin Mints They're offering a new cookie this year It's called Raspberry Rally

03:04:47 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it looks so good

03:04:49 - 03:05:29 | Speaker 4:

A Thin Mint inspired cookie With a similar shape and size Chocolate covering The only difference is It's got a pinkish raspberry tasting crunchy center We'll be right back.

03:05:00 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 1:

You think it looks good, Mike?

03:05:01 - 03:05:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I do.

03:05:01 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 1:

I don't even like Thin Mints, but I think this looks good.

03:05:04 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 4:

I'm so mad at the Girl Scouts. What happened to Savannah Delights? What happened? Where'd they go?

03:05:10 - 03:05:14 | Speaker 6:

They pulled it off? Sometimes they change the names, too. Which one was that?

03:05:14 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 4:

It was Powdered Sugar Lemon Cookie.

03:05:17 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, yeah. So in the Midwest, they're now pushing lemon ups. But they're different. Yeah, they're different. So on the East Coast, my niece still has the Savannah. So I will gladly resell yours at an 80% upcharge. I will pay an insane amount for those cookies. I'm a pusher. I got your supply.

03:05:36 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Starbucks is now partnering with DoorDash for deliveries in all 50 states. The coffee giant has been on Uber Eats, or I don't know, not in my neighborhood. I can't get it on Uber Eats. But now they are officially going to DoorDash, where they'll be offering food and drinks from the Starbucks menu be available to customers ordering through DoorDash and they finally did that you know little partnership with those guys imagine paying like

03:06:05 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 6:

$5 for a coffee and then $15 for delivery oh my god

03:06:09 - 03:06:32 | Speaker 1:

did I tell you guys I probably didn't I was telling somebody in the hallway that I've now been taking money from my son to go get his food for him because he would always want to DoorDash and I said no you gotta go get it yourself She's like, I'm not going to go get it. And I go, all right, here's the deal. I'll go get it, but you've got to pay me. So he has to pay me half of the DoorDash delivery charge.

03:06:32 - 03:06:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you're still too nice.

03:06:34 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 1:

So I'm paying for the food for him, like Chipotle and McDonald's, but he's got to pay me the delivery charge to offset the thing.

03:06:43 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I bought your kid a car. If he's not going to go out, you should be getting you dinner.

03:06:47 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 1:

I know. What's the story where you like to drive your kid's car more than you like to drive your own car, too? Yeah. And then you get inside of it, and it's dirty. It's got bottles all over the place.

03:06:56 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 6:

I won't even look at my daughter's. It pisses me off so much that if I look, and I'm going to ban her from driving because I'm so angry at how you treat things. The most expensive thing you own.

03:07:06 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 1:

Speaking of DoorDash, there's a TikTok that you got.

03:07:09 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 6:

Sorry, did I get into dad mode, Megan? Did you go into a little PTSD there?

03:07:12 - 03:07:18 | Speaker 5:

A little part of me was like, I'm parked next to Mojo this morning, and he would die to see the inside of my car right now.

03:07:18 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Okay, speaking of DoorDash, there is a TikTok that you need to follow. It is the DoorDash shame guy He is the dasher That will show It's actually called Dashing Traitor He goes out there And he will shame people For not giving a big enough tip And he puts you on his TikTok

03:07:41 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 2:

You ever heard of No Tip No Trip? How much is the tip on this order? That ain't enough when it's zero degrees outside And it's icy And I gotta drive my car and wait for it You know how much Dasher's make on the average? You don't incur, do you? Two bucks. The phone that showed up is $2.50, and that usually means there's no tip on there. I was just wondering, is there any reason why there's no tip on there? No.

03:08:02 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 1:

A spokesperson for DoorDash says that this Dasher's account has now been deactivated after it had been up for a while and a lot of people were shamed because of the tipping situation. What would you do if this person came to your door And didn't think that your tip was good enough And then ended up Putting you on their TikTok to shame you

03:08:24 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 6:

Dummy had to know he was going to get cancelled right That he wasn't going to be a driver long If he was sharing his account name

03:08:29 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 1:

He says he's going to get back up on DoorDash By going on a different As a different name

03:08:34 - 03:08:37 | Speaker 6:

To be able to do this

03:08:37 - 03:08:56 | Speaker 1:

He says he's doing this for all of the delivery drivers Everywhere who are not getting Enough tip money And just because you order food Doesn't mean that they get the money Money always goes for service charges A lot of times he said that majority of people Will have an order of $20 or more and tip $1

03:08:56 - 03:08:58 | Speaker 4:

For that

03:08:58 - 03:09:04 | Speaker 1:

A person driving their car to and from To go pick up your stuff and they're only giving them $1 as a tip

03:09:04 - 03:09:08 | Speaker 6:

A lot of people think that the driver's getting that whole service charge And all the up charges and they're not

03:09:08 - 03:09:30 | Speaker 1:
