This is Dr. Laurie Santos from the Happiness Lab. Have you ever considered how the smallest details can create real emotion? Lexus does, like the feeling associated with the sound of a turn signal, or the touch of a button as it's pressed. At Lexus, master craftsmen called Takumi are involved not just in physical craftsmanship, but in sensory details. These masters evaluate things like how a door closes, the click of a switch, the acoustic feedback of controls. Because a car that doesn't make you feel something is a car that stops short of amazing. Experience amazing at your Lexus dealer.

Let's get out with the weekend.

00:04:17 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 5:

Last weekend, I went out with my friends, and we got totally wasted. Well, it sounds great to me. It's the weekend, baby.

00:04:27 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. Oh, my goodness. It's going to be a weekend, huh? Here we go. Welcome to the Mojo, the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. We are Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. Yes. We'd like to stay positive on Fridays, but not after what's been happening to spike care today. You got pulled over this morning?

00:04:56 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Do you know that Mercury is no longer in retrograde as of yesterday?

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

You never know it because the past 24 hours have been no bueno. What's going to do my best to hit the reset button right now and put it all behind me and have a weekend.

00:05:10 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 3:

The past 24 hours. I thought it was just the cops.

00:05:12 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 1:

No, first. OK, I got pulled over for running a traffic light to turn yellow to red. I'm not going to complain. We all play that game. I lost. That is just the appetizer for a total spit sandwich of a day in 24 hours. So I'll tell you a few things that, as my dad would say, grinded my gears. My daughter's graduating college, and as a gift, I've been saving up to buy her a trip for a college graduation. Well, yesterday I went to finally pull the trigger and buy the flight. They raised the price by $500. So didn't buy it in any way. Listen, now I've got to pay a $200 ticket first for traffic, so I'm not buying. Turns out I wouldn't have been able to buy the flight because two hours later I found out that my credit card was being used in fraudulent charges. So they canceled it. Now I got to wait for a new card and try to remember all 45 bills that I have on auto pay because I got to change all the numbers on all those accounts. Yeah. While all this is going on, I got a repairman at my house and they didn't have what they needed to make the repair. And this is the third time they've been at my house for the same thing. And the third time Meg took a day off of work to be home for the repairman. Oh, your girlfriend, Meg. Oh my gosh. So they're telling me they got to come back a fourth time to do it right. But you know what? I'm trying not to let these little problems ruin my day. I decide I'm going to do the one thing that instantly changes my mood, coffee. I immediately went beer, by the way. Well, it was too early, and you don't want me to get drunk and angry. So I thought I'd go down the street and get myself and the workers some Dunkin' coffee because, you know what, it's not their fault the company ordered the wrong parts and loaded the wrong materials on their truck. I don't blame the workers for the bad communication going on in their office. i'm gonna change my mood with coffee and i'm gonna do the right thing and try and you know pay it forward to these guys except this time i left the coffee on the roof of my car as i fumbled for my car keys so as i turned back onto the street to go home i saw the coffee cups go flying and i was like this is i'm done i'm done there's the drop that's where the drop it's one of those

00:07:17 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 3:

days you don't need you don't need the coffee on a day like that i heard that in my head you need

00:07:23 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

whiskey or yeah i should have like megan said i should have turned to beer so now it's a friday wow as soon as we're clocking out here today you know what let's do this it's uh it's spike's uh

00:07:33 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

gripe time so spike got a chance to gripe uh anybody else have anything that they want to complain about uh get it out of our systems now before the weekend so we can all feel good about ourselves i would like to give a shout out to my leasing office for raising my rent yesterday

00:07:46 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

$200

00:07:47 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 4:

In this economy Wait a second

00:07:53 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

Who needs groceries or anything

00:07:55 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 3:

Wow so they raised your rent Yesterday And it's funny because I just asked you a question Hey are you staying in that apartment Yeah I love my landlord he's like the greatest guy ever That's awesome I'm going to still pay the same rent Did you not re-sign a lease or what happened

00:08:09 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 2:

They basically got a new I got a new leasing manager So they kind of raised the rent and changed it all up But me and Megan were just talking about it on Wednesday, how I was getting away with paying my old rent, and I don't know how. We jinxed it. Yeah, we really did.

00:08:23 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. You know what I say? This new leasing agent's got a bonus system in their contract where if they can raise everybody's rent, they can get part bonus. Yep, probably. Wow. I got nothing to complain about. It's actually been great. It's been great. Oh, God. Thank you. Come on. Come on. You don't have any. Oh, God. You're not complaining right now. You're sitting back. Do you have anything that you want to complain about? Go off, Megan.

00:08:52 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 4:

There are so many things I want to complain about, but I enjoy getting a paycheck. Oh, it's the boss. Okay. I despise you. No, I would love to throw one person that we work with under the bus. Not by name.

00:09:07 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 3:

Please.

00:09:08 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 4:

But I swear to God, if I get one more email asking for something that they didn't tell me that they needed, oh, I'm going to lose my money.

00:09:17 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so they're in sales.

00:09:20 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 4:

Can you give me a copy of this? A copy of what? Oh, I needed this two months ago. You never told me.

00:09:27 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 1:

Wow. You know what you should do? You should put them on the roof of my car, and then I'm going to drive off, and they're going to go flying.

00:09:32 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 3:

Ian, do you have anything to complain about today?

00:09:35 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

I have nothing to complain about. All right.

00:09:37 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Let's keep it positive, Ian. What do you got going on in your life?

00:09:42 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

I am actually getting a new car today. Yeah. Oh, nice.

00:09:46 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

What are you getting?

00:09:48 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm getting a 2023 Grand Cherokee L.

00:09:51 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 3:

Nice.

00:09:51 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I love Grand Cherokees. I'm so jealous. That was like the first car that I had. I loved it.

00:09:57 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 3:

Where are you going to get this car? I'm going to stay our Jeep in Bowling Green, Ohio.

00:10:02 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. They better give you a good deal for that plug that you just gave. It better be good. Are you picking the color and everything, or are you just taking whatever they have on the lot?

00:10:13 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 3:

I actually got it all picked out on Saturday. It just arrived yesterday. So it's white, and then all the – instead of chrome, it's all black. So I'm super pumped.

00:10:22 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Oh, my God. All right. I actually was talking about doing white if I get a new car or anything like a couple years from now. I was thinking about doing that because all my Keldean friends have white cars. And that's like their thing. And I thought, it would be kind of nice to have a white car. I don't know.

00:10:41 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

I would never be able to keep it clean.

00:10:42 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 4:

I think that it's easier to keep a white car clean than it is to keep a black car clean. Because my car is always looking bad.

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 2:

That's what people say to make themselves feel better about their poor decisions.

00:10:51 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm not sure about that.

00:10:53 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, listen, you have a great day. Enjoy that car. Enjoy the weekend. Okay, Ian? Awesome.

00:10:58 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:10:58 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 4:

You guys can do it. Thank you.

00:10:59 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:13:34 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 4:

All right. Shannon is off. Megan is in. And what you got in this first Dirty of the Morning?

00:13:40 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 2:

So Alec Baldwin could be facing five years in prison for that 2021 shooting on the set of the movie Rust that happened in new mexico uh the santa fe first judicial district attorney and the special prosecutor have announced that the actor aka alec baldwin and the armorer on the set hannah gutierrez reed will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter for the death of helena hutchins now alec baldwin's lawyer is calling the decision a terrible miscarriage of justice mr baldwin had no reason to believe that there was a live bullet in the gun or anywhere on the movie set he relied on the professionals with whom he worked who assured him that the gun did not have live rounds we are going to fight these charges and we will win now hutchins who was 42 at the time was the cinematographer during this whole scene she was the one that was behind the camera when the gun was fired or fired um but here's what else we know the first assistant director on rust his name is david halls he signed a plea agreement for the charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon and agreed to testify for the state in the prosecution so um we've also seen alec baldwin doing a lot of interviews since this happened and he's been making some big claims over the last few months that are probably going to come back and bite him in the butt i never once

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

said never that the gun

00:15:00 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 3:

off in my hand automatically i always said i pulled the hammer back and i pulled it back as far as i could i never took a gun and pointed at somebody and clicked the thing him saying that

00:15:10 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 2:

will probably be used by prosecution in this case to say that's not what happened he's lying the prosecutor also talked about some common rules that really every gun owner knows rules

00:15:22 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 1:

of the firearm you don't point a gun at somebody unless you're intending to actually shoot them And he did all those things, which ultimately resulted in Helena Hutchins' death.

00:15:32 - 00:15:37 | Speaker 2:

The prosecutor also goes on to say, like, he can't even claim that he's new to this.

00:15:37 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 1:

He was actually the producer on this film. He was present on scene. He's an actor who's probably starred in 40-plus gun movies. He's very familiar. And he said, I believe, in reports and interviews that he's very familiar with the use of guns.

00:15:54 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 2:

So Matthew Hutchins, the widower of Helena Hutchins, did settle his wrongful death lawsuit against the producers of Rust, including Alec Baldwin, back in October. Or October. Jeez, I don't know how to read today. And also six members of the camera crew walked off the set just hours before the accident to protest what they said were unsafe working conditions.

00:16:14 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

I saw yesterday that his lawyer speak, and I thought this was interesting. His lawyer is a 40-year-old who, he's not a criminal lawyer. He's a guy who fights auction houses for paintings and things like that. And I'm thinking, I think he needs, like, Mark Garagos or something like that. You know what I mean? Like, he needs, like, a criminal to, you know, is Johnny Cochran still alive? Like, the guy's going to need somebody good on this whole deal.

00:16:42 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 2:

You would think that he has the budget for some big lawyers, and I think he needs it. Jamie Lee Curtis is under fire today after a photo she posted on her social media. Now, this photo had a picture in the background of her office. It was kind of disturbing. It was like a young naked child in a box. She posted the photo on her Instagram, on her Facebook. This has since been deleted. She was focusing on the beautiful chairs in the center of her office that she took from the set of her movie that's being nominated all over the place. I'm guessing it's going to be up for Best Picture at the Oscars. Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. If you have not seen it yet, 10 out of 10. Would recommend. Very, very good.

00:17:24 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 3:

Do they know who the person is in the picture, or is it just like it's art?

00:17:27 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 2:

So we don't know exactly who it is. A lot of people online were saying, like, this is giving strong Epstein vibes. Well, she deleted it, and then she posted this statement. Last week, I posted a picture of some chairs that included a photograph on the wall by an artist that was gifted to me 20 years ago. I understand it has disturbed some people As I've said, I am a truth teller So here's the truth It's a picture of a child taken But her mother, or with her mother Or by her mother, that's what she meant to say She missed it Of her playing in their backyard in a tub of water Nothing more, nothing less I took down the post because I didn't want to keep something up that upset anyone But it's still a weird photograph To have hanging in your office if you ask me

00:18:05 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 3:

I always find it interesting, like our boss Remember he used to have naked lady photos On his walls and stuff at his house Paul and I think it was interesting like to hang naked people up on your walls and stuff like that

00:18:16 - 00:18:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean I'm actually really maybe I'm a prude no I'm really cool with it but I think if you're gonna have your employees come over to your house you might just want to take it down do you know

00:18:24 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 3:

the story with that so Paul had this naked very attractive woman there and I'm looking at the photo and we all thought it was Paul's girlfriend Sarah it wasn't no it was not Sarah it was her best friend who was at the party.

00:18:37 - 00:18:39 | Speaker 2:

No, that's... Yes. Is that worse? I think it's worse. I think it's worse.

00:18:40 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 3:

To me, it was just very interesting. I miss him. I think that's worse. Oh, I know. I miss Paul, too. Just for the stories, I miss him.

00:18:46 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 2:

So, the Black Eyed Peas are coming for Poopsie Slime Surprise. Yes, you heard me. What's that? It is a toy unicorn that poops slime, and they did some advertising where they're claiming that they've parodied the song My Hump. In their lyrics, they switched it up to say, my poops, my sparkly glitter poops. Well, now the team behind the Black Eyed Peas are suing the Poopsie Slime Surprise Company to the tune of $10 million. You decide. Is this parody or a rip-off? Poopsie Slime Surprise. My poops, my poops, my poops.

00:19:20 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 3:

What you gonna do with all that poop? Oh, yeah. That's going right in. They owe money. I'm more surprised that Black Eyed Peas have a team. Yeah, I think Case closed Now the question is

00:19:37 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 2:

If it's a parody, are they allowed to do this Or is it too, like where does that line fall?

00:19:42 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 3:

I think you have to still pay You think so? Well, if it's used in any way to make them money Which they're making money off of it, right? It's commercial

00:19:50 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what the Black Eyed Peas are claiming It's like, hey, this is a really big hit You're profiting off of us And then really quickly, we do have some good news Damar Hamlin has been spotted Thank you.

00:20:00 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 1:

around the Bills practice field, and the rest of the team just got a really cool gift to honor him. They all received a pendant to wear with the number three on it. Gabriel Jacobs is a jeweler from New York City. He gifted the team the pendants to wear when they face off with the Bengals during the playoffs. Apparently engraved on the back of the number three is one of DeMar's quotes. He says, if you get a chance to show some love today, do it. It won't cost you nothing.

00:20:23 - 00:20:26 | Speaker 2:

River has it that he might actually do the coin flip before the game.

00:20:26 - 00:20:26 | Speaker 1:

That would be very cool.

Take care, guys. Bye-bye. It's Mojo in the morning. 5 is 6.55. 5, 5. Mojo in the morning. I'm going to give you a little recap of my day because I have to. It's basically to pat myself on the back. My day yesterday.

00:30:20 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:30:20 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

So, and I'll do it with this topic because this will actually work perfect for this. My topic that I want to bring up is how did a butt dial get you in trouble? Okay? Because I'm going to explain this to you. So yesterday I was asked to join in on a Teams meeting. And I got a phone call from one of our bosses asking to join in on a Teams meeting. And I said, I can't go. I can't do it. I said, I have a client call that I got to go to. whenever you know and i do a bunch of client calls but i didn't have a client call yesterday but i figured if i said what i was gonna do they would say oh you can't do this then i butt dialed that boss while i was at the gym on the treadmill walking causing causing that boss to say mistaken dial sounded like you were having sex no we're just always out of breath it was one of those one of those moments for me right there just trying to catch myself but

00:31:36 - 00:31:42 | Speaker 2:

i feel so bad for your wife chelsea because because to know that that's what it's because

00:31:42 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 1:

that's what it's on by the way can i be honest i think that honestly i think i breathe less probably when you're trying to like keep it in yeah yeah i don't want to be don't hold your breath you'll pass out on top of her although a completely side note chelsea said when i was watching television last night i was mouth breathing like crazy nice i i i sounded i sounded like uh uh darth vader when i when i was just sitting there mouth mouth breathing there Okay, so I want to throw out just a quick little flex. I never do this. Literally never do this. I never work out three times in a week, and I got three times in a week last week. Standing ovation. I mean, not standing. I'm too tired. But for you, it's good. It was unbelievable. But, you know, the funny thing is I kept telling Chelsea all day yesterday, I kept telling Chelsea, I did three workouts in a week. And Chelsea said, I know what you're setting me up for. And I said, what's that? Next week, you're going to do none. That's pretty much what will probably end up happening. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. How did a butt dial get you in trouble? Because it's funny that I got the new phone. I got the new iPhone, which I'm really liking some of the stuff that it has on there. but it's kind of like pissing me off lately why i don't know for some reason that that butt dial

00:33:14 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 2:

thing has happened a couple of times mine too since i got my new phone and i don't understand

00:33:18 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 1:

what the what the story is because you unless the new phone for some reason opens up like sensitively yeah i think so it's a little bit which is weird because i know that it does the whole mask thing now so i had you know you could do it where you have a mask on and all the rest that stuff and then i had to do with my glasses but then the other uh thing is that even though the phone's faster now and i don't have like the slowness of trying to like get to certain things i feel like it's almost too fast for me like like i'm tech like i'm texting the the wrong people sometimes like i've had that happen to me a couple of times why can i picture you like sitting in a dark room going slow down right stop being so good um all right texters uh texting in this morning their butt dial story so kp uh is going to be calling you so if she calls you you got to do it i'll read a couple of these ones that say that they can't go on the air um 810 says can't go on the air butt dial caught me while i told my mom that i was at the library hanging out with friends i was literally hanging out with friends in the basement of one of our friends houses partying um not a good idea to have another butt dial here butt dialed calling my boss telling him that i was really really sick only to hear my wife and him uh my wife and i's conversation about me taking the day off from work just to hang out sarah how did a butt dial get you into trouble

00:34:46 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

um we were just talking crab about a friend but it was on her boyfriend's voicemail and he didn't And maybe until months later, he just kind of hinted off that he heard it. Oh, God.

00:35:00 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 5:

boyfriend why didn't she go like code break his phone and delete it before he could hear it no it was about his girlfriend it's about her i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry so he didn't he didn't tell her for how long a month like four or five months later he talks about it see i gotta

00:35:20 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 3:

be honest that that guy was like waiting for something to happen he was waiting because you don't you would i would call like chelsea right away if somebody was talking crap about her and say hey someone who's talking crap on my phone wonder why he waited so long i don't think he

00:35:35 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 5:

cared yeah i think they just kind of gave me a hit like yeah i heard it yeah he was indeferent

00:35:40 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 9:

uh what's up drew hi hey what's going on my girlfriend butt dialed her grandma while we were sitting in the bedroom and her grandma heard us talking about her sex life oh boy oh no

00:35:56 - 00:35:59 | Speaker 3:

00:35:59 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 9:

She didn't realize it And she was like You do what? And she's like Oh my god grandma I am so sorry Oh man

00:36:13 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 3:

00:36:18 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 9:

Well, they asked for my information, you know, like they normally do. And about, oh, five, ten minutes after I hung up, I got a cop knocking on my door. And when I answered it, you know, he asked me the same thing. I told him what was going on, what happened and everything. And he's like, oh, well, just so you know, now that I got you here, you have a warrant out.

00:38:07 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no.

00:38:09 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 1:

That's horrible.

00:38:10 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 3:

You know it's bad. Oh, my God, you poor guy.

00:38:14 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And I just, literally, I was getting ready to sit down and eat. I just pulled the steak out of the air fryer and put it on my plate.

00:38:23 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 3:

Did they let you eat it?

00:38:25 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 1:

No, he did not. When we got up to the cap shop, I ended up telling him that he owed me a steak.

00:38:35 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome. Mojo in the morning. Joanne?

00:38:38 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:38:39 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Joanne. Hi, good morning. What was caught by a butt dial? Good morning.

00:38:43 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 6:

Well, I was in a new relationship, and we had went to a party, and we had to pick up some more alcohol. So we drove to pick up the alcohol, and he lived along the way. So we stopped and had our cookie, and we were baking some cookies. And apparently when he dropped his pants, it had called his ex-wife. And she just made some comments to him the next day about, well, you moved on pretty quick. and just kind of said stuff that was going on.

00:39:15 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 3:

How long do you think she listened?

00:39:18 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 6:

I don't know, because I asked the same question, and he said long enough.

00:39:21 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Like, that's one of those things where it's like, would you listen, or would you, you know? No. You wouldn't do it? No. I probably would. I'm weird, I know. Leah, Voices, guys, what did you catch on Butt Dial?

00:39:36 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

So my boyfriend called me during work in the middle of the day. i didn't answer it went to voicemail uh it was him and his boss at the strip club oh no yeah yeah it was great yeah i still have the voicemail are you still with him um well i was until recently but when of course he cheated again but wait

00:40:00 - 00:40:02 | Speaker 4:

Was he cheating at the strip club or just going to the strip club, though?

00:40:02 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, he was at the strip club with his boss. Of course, he didn't tell me he was at the strip club and then denied that he was at the strip club. Then I sent a voicemail, and then he was like, okay, I was at the strip club.

00:40:13 - 00:40:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez.

00:40:14 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 6:

Look, I love a strip club, but you've got to communicate. If you're not communicating, that's when I feel like you're cheating.

00:40:19 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 4:

Then it's bad. Yeah, yeah.

00:40:20 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 1:

If you're hiding it for a reason.

00:40:21 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 6:

Exactly.

00:40:22 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 2:

Like, if you're going there for lunch, like, you should have told me, hey, you know, we're at the strip club for lunch.

00:40:26 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, because they do have great steak. I'm telling you.

00:40:28 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 2:

The voicemail clearly was a girl asking him if he wanted to dance, and yeah, so.

00:40:38 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 4:

And what did, was he, did you listen to the whole thing where he was going to dance?

00:40:44 - 00:40:44 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:40:44 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God. Did he say anything dirty on there?

00:40:47 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 2:

No, he didn't.

00:40:48 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. In the same line as Benny, you called the cops on yourself too, Brittany?

00:40:55 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 5:

yeah um it was actually during the pandemic like just when they were like you can only hang out with like 10 people at a time so i had a birthday party at my friend's and she lived out in this old big farm house and um so we had outside and i had went to put my phone into my pop-up chair cup sitter and it held down both you know on iphone if you hold down your like lock screen Everybody make sure you hit dump

00:41:26 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 1:

Can't say that

00:41:27 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 5:

And so they ended up calling me back And they're like Trying to talk to me and I was like everything's fine Don't come here everything's fine I didn't mean to call the girl kind of chuckled And luckily they didn't show up but

00:41:41 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 4:

Good yeah

00:41:42 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 5:

Wow

00:41:45 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 4:

Alright thank you for the call Alright Mojo on the morning show It's all because of that stupid iPhone That's the problem right there

00:41:53 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 1:

First, there was the iPhone, then the iPad, then the iPad Mini. Now, Mojo in the Morning presents the iPod. What's the iPod? Just put your eye up to the radio and we'll show you. Oh, son of a... Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:08 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Now, number one for podcasts. Listen to the Mojo in the Morning show on iHeartRadio. And if you want to really have fun, listen to the More Mojo podcast. It's rated R fun with Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:29 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. It is now time for another moment on the Mojo in the Morning show where Megan tells us how she's going to kill her dad.

00:42:43 - 00:42:44 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:42:44 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 4:

This is the music that you try. Did you like that? I love it. Isn't that like the greatest? It's like 80s sitcom music Or something like that

00:42:52 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 7:

I feel like in a modern movie If I was actually murdering my dad Like this would be the funniest music To play in the background While it was happening

00:42:59 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 4:

But it would have to be Like you walking in the door You know how they always did that In those sitcoms They would walk in the door And they would look surprised And then it would say Starring Megan And then all of a sudden Your dad comes in the door Right afterwards Yeah and you gotta put your Fist underneath your chin And then here comes Scott Mick And your brother Sean

00:43:16 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 7:

Wagging his finger at us

00:43:18 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 4:

All right. So what's going on with your dad? Your dad cannot be in trouble with you.

00:43:22 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no, he's in massive trouble because my father, Scott Mick, decided yesterday to scare the absolute bejesus out of me and really didn't have any care in the world that he did so because he sent me photos during the show yesterday. And I'm going to give you a timeline. I'm going to read you the entire text interaction of everything that played out during the show yesterday here on Mojo in the Morning. So at 7.45 in the morning, I get a picture of my dad's car that had been in an accident. And the window was smashed. There's a hole in his windshield. It was terrifying to see. And I responded to that photograph at 7.45. So I don't know if you remember, but he sent the original text at 7.45. So within 60 seconds, I responded to that man, oh, my God, what happened? and then my brother responded about an hour after that what the hell happened and then I responded about 30 minutes after that we're still asking what happened my father's response well came in at 9 0 4 a.m oh my gosh he left you hanging that long we still don't have a response we just get more pictures of the accident from him no response if he's okay no response what happened just more photographs of the accident which I sent to all you guys and I said did you get in an accident did you hit a deer are you in the hospital what is going on my brother responds it's really not cool to send us all these texts and then not answer us what's going on I said oh yeah I'm so worried I finally get a response from my dad at You.

00:45:00 - 00:45:28 | Speaker 6:

9.56 a.m. Every time we go to commercials on the show yesterday, I'm calling my dad. Every half hour or so, I'm texting him what's going on, what's going on. He goes, oh, sorry, didn't have my ringer on. Didn't see that you had texted me. Didn't get any of the calls. I'm fine. Fine. A little scary. A metal pole went through my windshield, but I'm fine. Yes, my father literally almost died yesterday during the show, didn't respond for two hours, and then was like, well, you guys are so upset. I didn't have my ringer turned on.

00:45:28 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 7:

Wait, where was he? Explain what happened.

00:45:31 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 6:

I believe he was on 23 when a part of a truck flew off and hit his windshield. Holy crap. I know. I know. And after seeing the photo, now, it shatters his windshield. And if you really look at it, you can see the hole where the pole went through. Wow. To say that this pole was very small was crazy. But, like, it didn't leave a major hole in his windshield, but it definitely did some damage. Oh, my God. And then to not hear from him for two and a half hours. Right. And then he had the audacity to be like, why are you mad? I just had my ringer turned off.

00:46:00 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 3:

Plus, when he went to send you more photos, you guys had already both responded by that time, so he should have seen your texts when he went to open and send you more photos.

00:46:09 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 6:

And I would like to have the roles reversed. If I don't text him back like that I didn't get home from dinner, he'll lose his mind. Right. But he can send me photos of a car accident that he was in. Doesn't respond for two and a half hours, and what's the big deal? I don't see what's the big deal.

00:46:25 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 4:

In a terrifying car accident, a pole going through a window is the biggest fear I have any time I drive behind a car with poles on it. Yes.

00:46:34 - 00:46:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. And then his response after all this was, I guess safety glass really does work. I hate him. I hate him so much.

00:46:43 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 7:

I saw a story yesterday. It's wild because we've talked before about people and how scary it can get. But I saw a story yesterday about a Denny's sign. Did you see this? Denny's, you know, the restaurant, the, you know, Moon's Over Miami. A Denny's sign that crushed a car in the parking lot.

00:47:07 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:47:08 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. It was a crazy story. They had it on the news. Hold on a second. That there is a better way. Hold on. Oh, they got to watch the commercial. One of these days I might actually pay for whatever the thing is so I don't have to, like, read these commercials for bathfitter. Book your free consultation. I have no idea. What's bathfitter? I don't know.

00:47:27 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 5:

A woman is dead after strong winds blew a Denny sign from its perch and crushed a car. Two others were hurt.

00:47:34 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 2:

WDR's Katrina Nichol found out who was inside that car. Katrina?

00:47:39 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 5:

You guys, this is Lillian May Curtis and her husband, Lloyd Eugene Curtis. Their granddaughter tells us the two were in the car. The couple's daughter was driving them back to Columbia, Kentucky. Witnesses said they were driving when that sign fell onto their car.

00:47:54 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 7:

Could you imagine? It was like metal on metal.

00:47:56 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 5:

People in the area described the moment this Denny sign fell onto a car in Elizabethtown as unthinkable.

00:48:04 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 3:

It didn't happen at all, man. It was a freak accident.

00:48:06 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 5:

Inside the car were three people. Oh, my God. Lillian May Curtis was in the backseat. Oh, sweet little lady. And transported to UofL Hospital, where she later died. Her granddaughter, Amy Lynn Nichols, told WDRB that doctors described Curtis's head wound as catastrophic. Oh, gee.

00:48:25 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 1:

For a long time, I've never encountered anything anywhere closest.

00:48:29 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 5:

Police said all three people needed to be extracted from the car by EMS and the fire department. Lynn said her mom, Mary Kay Graham.

00:48:37 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 7:

They have the video from a security camera across the street where you see the sign literally hanging by a thread and then eventually falling. And it wasn't like it was a sign that was just, like, right out in front of the—it was one of those ones on the highway signs, so it's so high up, so it came down.

00:48:57 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 5:

Wow, I'm reading more.

00:49:02 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. If I die at Denny's, I want it to be from the country fried chicken biscuit and gravy bowl that's 3,000 calories.

00:49:07 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 7:

By the way, it says later in the WDRB news story here that the family members were notified immediately of what happened when the sign fell and were able to rush to the scene. So the family members had to rush to the scene.

00:49:25 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 3:

Is IHOP a suspect? Are they looking at him? Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Those signs are scary, though, the ones you said that are, like, at a truck stop where they make them so high to be seen from the highway that it seems like no sign should be that high. Shut up. Shut up.

00:49:40 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that was for you.

00:49:42 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 7:

But it's amazing, though. It's amazing that the family members were called immediately.

00:49:47 - 00:49:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah.

00:49:48 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 7:

Unlike your situation where—

00:49:51 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 6:

I got ignored for two hours and then was told I was being dramatic. Wow.

00:49:56 - 00:49:56 | Unknown:

Whatever.

00:49:56 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 7:

Katie, what did you want to say?

00:49:58 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 6:

Megan, your dad got final death.

00:50:00 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 1:

destination yes yes you have to watch the sign something else is gonna happen oh no remember wait weren't we just talking about the song the song that will predict our 2023 and mine was the charlie poot death song if i hear phil collins we're not saying that i'm just gonna start crying

00:50:19 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 5:

immediately just wrap them in bubble wrap we're not we're not even putting it out there it's not happening, okay?

00:50:26 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Final Destination, Mike said it first. So this is the biggest fear.

00:50:31 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 5:

Put the flame on Mike. Standard. What's going on, Ryan? How you doing? Good, how are you? Good. What's you calling for? What story do you got for us?

00:50:41 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 4:

I was just saying it's wild. The day before on 280 down in Toledo, the semi-truck tire flew off and hit the other semi, and it's just a weird coincidence.

00:50:52 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. What is going on with the

00:50:53 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 5:

No, you know, honestly, it's everywhere where you see that things fall off of trucks or whatever. You've got to, like, really pay attention to what's going on out on the streets, especially, like, if you're driving on one of the highways with these trucks, these semi-trucks that are driving around.

00:51:12 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 1:

But even if you're paying attention.

00:51:13 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, that and orange barrels.

00:51:15 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but even if you're paying attention, if we're going 70 miles an hour, if somebody flies off the bat, what can you do about it?

00:51:21 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, exactly. Honestly, I think your dad did the best. It hit him, and thank God it didn't actually affect him, but he was able to pull over safely. Randy, what's up?

00:51:32 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Good morning, guys. Good morning.

00:51:34 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

00:51:35 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 3:

So I was driving. I live in Elmont, so I was driving on the Van Dyke Expressway home to my house, wherever, and I saw some kids on the overpass as I was going through, and as I was coming back underneath it, they threw a piece of concrete onto my windshield and shattered my complete

00:51:52 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 4:

windshield. Oh, my gosh.

00:51:54 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 3:

I pull over. I call 911. The officer came out and he said, do you think you can drive home? And I said, well, I don't really know. And he banged on my windshield to see if it would break. And he's like, nope, you should be okay. And I was thinking, my God, if his hands went through, he was going to cut up his hands like crazy. Anyway, I got home and I took my kids out of the car and there was little glass shears all over their car seats. It was the scariest

00:52:21 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 4:

moment. Did he circle back to the overpass to see if he

00:52:26 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 3:

could find the kids? Yeah, he tried to find the kids. They couldn't even find the piece of concrete, but obviously my windshield shows the proof. It was very scary. What kids

00:52:36 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 5:

think that that's fun to do?

00:52:38 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 3:

Well, I guess a couple years ago, there were some kids that were arrested for doing the same thing because they actually killed somebody.

00:52:45 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 5:

I just saw yesterday that the city of Detroit has hired a juvenile task force. They just staffed a juvenile task force because there are so many issues of kids carjacking. And they're talking, when I say kids, we're talking as young as like 12 and 13 years old.

00:53:03 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, these were kids on a bike, so they must have been pretty young.

00:53:07 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 5:

They're carjacking, running into stores and just doing the flash mob robberies and stuff. and kids that would just come right up to you and just do vandalism right in front of you. So it's crazy. Becca, what's going on?

00:53:23 - 00:54:26 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I was telling her, Patricia, that 2006, my baby was in the car at I-96, and I had an Explorer, thank God, and a desk, and the guy in front of me in the truck flew by my truck, and I drove. Luckily, it was a big car, a big SUV. I also beat my windshield. so anyways he got out and walked to me super mad getting some pieces of the desk like how could drive but i was like so shocked that i didn't do anything i didn't call 9-1-1 i didn't do anything i was just shaking and afterwards i was like how the hell the guy was super mad at me i just start my desk it is a two thousand dollars desk i'm like uh what buddy that's your fault you didn't strap it down right right i i didn't even call the cops and i fell so stupid afterwards so not calling coffee and i couldn't because i have really uh you know i wasn't with my glasses so like i want to see his license plate so i can call off yeah it could have killed you far from me

00:54:26 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 5:

yeah he was like super mad i gotta dump that i'm sorry i gotta dump you can't sway that

00:54:30 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 2:

everybody i'm sorry i swear a lot i'm brasilian that's my answer

00:54:35 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 5:

I still wanted her to call, though. Wow. Oh, my God.

00:54:41 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 2:

I feel horrible because sometimes I want to call because my life is so crazy that I was once a person of interest in a mother. You know, like, my life. You were what? Like, everything. I was once a person of interest in a mother.

00:54:59 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

Wait, hold on a second.

00:55:00 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 6:

You were once a person of interest in a murder?

00:55:03 - 00:55:12 | Speaker 9:

Yes. Yeah. Yes. In Connecticut. Yes. And the crazy thing that the bitch that I can't swear. I'm sorry. No, you're doing great.

00:55:12 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not pissing her off.

00:55:14 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 9:

The crazy thing that the guy, the lady that killed was from Michigan.

00:55:19 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 7:

Uh-huh. Was there a desk involved?

00:55:22 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 9:

It was not a desk involved, yeah.

00:55:24 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 7:

Well, how did you become a person of interest?

00:55:27 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 9:

Because I used to clean the lady that killed, that got killed. I used to clean her house, and I saw her. I was one of the last person that saw her. Oh, boy. And I lied. And I lied. I lied to the FBI. Why did you lie to the FBI? Yeah. Why? What did you lie? I didn't want to, you know, waste my time asking questions that I can't answer. So I lied, and I called my mom next day in Portuguese, saying that I lied. And my phone was already tapping They saw me

00:55:59 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 7:

Now you're a person of interest on this show I don't even know

00:56:03 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 6:

So they heard you say that you lied to the FBI

00:56:06 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 9:

That was 20 years ago Mojo

00:56:09 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 6:

They come back and By the way, I was going to have you call me every day Just to say hi to me I don't know if I want to get involved Hello FBI She's just a listener calling up the show

00:56:21 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 7:

Never met her before

00:56:22 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 9:

They found the lady Thank God, two years later they found. It was a triangle.

00:56:28 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 6:

If you're the FBI people listening, we got a phone scam at 7.50 and 9.50 this morning.

00:56:34 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 9:

I know, I know. They let me go. They couldn't have harassed me.

00:56:39 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay.

00:56:40 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 5:

Could you imagine going to talk to the FBI and then 20 minutes later jumping on the phone and not thinking they're tapping your phone?

00:56:48 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 8:

Just because someone carries a smartphone does not make them a smart person. We're about to prove it. Another world-famous phone scam happens at 7.50 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:57:02 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 6:

All right. I was going to say, all right, Shannon.

00:57:04 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 4:

You always call me Shannon.

00:57:06 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. I'm bringing this up, by the way. Megan's upset at Shannon, so coming up here in a second.

00:57:11 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, pissed.

00:57:12 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 6:

Bone to pick with her. Shannon, you better not be listening in France right now.

00:57:17 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:57:18 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 6:

I don't think she is.

00:57:19 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 4:

The fists are going to be flying. All right. I'm going to tell you.

00:57:21 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 6:

What's going on in this dirty, Shannon?

00:57:23 - 00:57:25 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to throw something at you.

00:57:27 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Megan.

00:57:28 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 4:

Anybody have scissors around here? Alec Baldwin is looking at about possibly five years in prison if he is convicted of the deadly 2021 shooting that happened on the set of the movie Rest that they've been filming. Remember, this is where he shot Helena Hutchins while they were rehearsing one of their scenes. He actually has been doing interviews since this happened. And not very smart because this is probably going to be used against him when this goes to court.

00:57:56 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 1:

I never once said, never, that the gun went off in my hand automatically. I always said I pulled the hammer back and I pulled it back as far as I could. I never took a gun and pointed at somebody and clicked the thing.

00:58:10 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 4:

Both he and the armorer on set, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, are going to be charged with this involuntary manslaughter charge. Also, we have the prosecutor talking, pretty much saying that, oh, my God.

00:58:26 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 7:

Are you having a stroke? Do you smell toast?

00:58:29 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 4:

Yes, essentially. They were saying that the number one rule when it comes to gun ownership is you don't point a gun at somebody.

00:58:37 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 2:

Rules of the firearm, you don't point a gun at somebody unless you're intending to actually shoot them. And he did all those things, which ultimately resulted in Helena Hutchins' death.

00:58:47 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 6:

You want to hear what Dan Abrams from ABC News, the illegal expert, thinks? Yeah, please. Because he got charged with a lot more than what people thought he was going to get charged with. A lot of people were surprised by that. And he could serve time, you know, like six years, they're saying, up to six years for this whole thing. This is Dan Abrams.

00:59:05 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 3:

Alec Baldwin and the armorer here, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, have had the book thrown at them. The prosecutors could have said, we're just going to pursue an involuntary manslaughter charge here. But instead, they've said that's one possible charge and another one that a jury could consider would be an involuntary manslaughter count which involves more than just negligence and we're going to throw in what's called a firearm enhancement. The question here is, are prosecutors throwing the kitchen sink at Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed in an effort to get them to plead?

00:59:45 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 6:

Interesting.

00:59:46 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 4:

Makes sense, doesn't it?

00:59:47 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I wonder if he'll serve time. I wonder if that will end up happening.

00:59:52 - 00:59:53 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so.

00:59:53 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 7:

Well, also, in 10 minutes, we have a classic phone scam. Remember, we used Alec Baldwin was on a phone scam with us. You're going to hear it in 10 minutes.

01:00:00 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 3:

So we've gotten some more information about the passing of Leslie Jordan. Turns out that he didn't actually die from the car accident. He suffered a sudden cardiac dysfunction, and that resulted in his death that led to the crash. So according to the coroner's report, he was taking heart medication at the time of his death, and his heart was not in good condition. His arteries were super blocked. One of them 80% blocked, another one 50% blocked. So it was a cardiac event that then led to the crash afterwards.

01:00:30 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 2:

The bad thing is he had an appointment, like, in days. The next week. Yeah, going to go to. And it just shows you, don't put off those appointments. Oh, for sure. Seriously, if you got an appointment, if you get a mammogram or you got to go get a stress test or whatever it might be, go to your appointments because within days he could have had all this taken care of by the doctors.

01:00:49 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 3:

So the suspended Good Morning America co-host, TJ Holmes, we've been talking about him a lot, turns out he's had lots of affairs. And one of them was with a much younger script coordinator, a.k.a. like an intern, right? He reached out, or she reached out to him to be a prospective mentor, but was left feeling pretty used after the relationship turned sexual. Apparently the affair with the then 24-year-old Jasmine Petaway was taken place in 2015. Holmes had been married to his now estranged wife, Marley, for five years. A source who knew Petaway at the time said that he was a predator who took full advantage of his position. He was reckless It was her first real job in television A big deal for her She was looking for a mentor She reached out to several people TJ was someone who was responsive And he absolutely abused the position of trust

01:01:36 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 2:

Spike, what does this sound like to you? Does this sound like that show with Jennifer Aniston And Reese Witherspoon, The Morning Show?

01:01:43 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 1:

The Morning Show is actually a great show If you haven't watched on the Apple streaming app It's really, from what I've been told by all our T friends A very accurate portrayal of what it's like to be on one of those morning TV behind the scenes. It's crazy.

01:01:57 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 3:

A Florida jury has decided that the rapper Flo Rida was owed some big bucks from Celsius to the tune of $82.6 million. A jury decided that Celsius was guilty of breaching an endorsement deal with Flo Rida that they had from 2014 to 2018. Flo Rida was claiming that when he filed the case in 2021, Celsius owed him millions in added stocks and royalties under the terms of the deals. The jury agreed. Here's the crazy part. How much money again did he get him? $82.6 million. But here's the thing. He didn't ask for a specific dollar amount. Just the 1% ownership that he was promised. So that's 1% of the company. That's crazy. When he talked to the press after the decision, he was in fact drinking a Celsius, but he was not drinking the best flavor, which is Arctic Blast in case you're wrong.

01:02:45 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 2:

Wait. You should, in your endorsement with them, you should ask them for part ownership. Tell them you want a .5% of the ownership. That's amazing. Flo-rida.

01:02:55 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 3:

01:03:53 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Thank you.

01:03:54 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hang on the phone for just one second. Mojo in the morning show. So I have a couple of things that I wanted to bring up on the show. I have a bone to pick with somebody on the show, and I'll explain who during our show yesterday was having some shenanigans going on in the bathroom. I'll talk about that. But first, Megan has a bone to pick with Shannon, who she is filling in for, who Shannon celebrated her birthday yesterday. And she's on a really nice trip. She went with her boyfriend, Wes, to Paris. And what is your bone to pick about?

01:04:34 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

She seems to like everybody but me. And I'm wondering if I should, in your opinion, unfollow her, possibly even block her on Instagram. because I feel very slighted and, quite frankly, disrespected by one Shannon Murphy because that lady is the respectable type of thing right now. That woman, that boss girl, decided to post.

01:05:00 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 5:

every single happy birthday wish that she was granted on her Instagram from everybody in her life. And I'm not talking just her friends or just her family.

01:05:08 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there was a million of them.

01:05:09 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 5:

A million coworkers as well. Weirdly enough, every single one of you who wished her a happy birthday, she reposted, except for mine.

01:05:19 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Redemption.

01:05:21 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 5:

Except for mine. Redemption.

01:05:24 - 01:05:25 | Speaker 3:

What's the redemption for, Mike?

01:05:25 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Because she, the Megan Mick, She never wished me a happy birthday herself.

01:05:34 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 3:

So were you in on it with Shannon? Did you tell her?

01:05:36 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 1:

I was not, but this feels good.

01:05:38 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 2:

So funny. Yesterday, my girlfriend said, wow, poor Shannon. She's just trying to enjoy her vacation and her birthday, but she has the repost. I said, no, she loves that. She's sharing all the wishes she's getting from around the world. And then I said, I wonder why Megan didn't wish her a happy birthday.

01:05:54 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Did you go through all of them to see? Because I didn't even, I said to Megan. No, I'm joking. I said, Megan, I know you've got to be up there, but then I went through it.

01:06:01 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 2:

No, I just opened Megan's story to see her wish, and I can tell you why she didn't share you. Why? Because you didn't tag her in it, so she can't share you.

01:06:09 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

01:06:10 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so it's your fault. It's your fault. It's your fault. You didn't tag her, so she can't share it to her story.

01:06:17 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 6:

No, I have an invisible tag.

01:06:19 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is that what it is?

01:06:21 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I have an invisible tag. Do you? Yeah. Because she reacted to it in our DMs. She reacted and she emojied it and she said, thank you. And she didn't repost it.

01:06:29 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

01:06:31 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 6:

In case you're wondering, you can invisibly tag people on Instagram.

01:06:35 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 3:

Donnie, what did you want to say about Shannon?

01:06:38 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Hey, okay. So I thought Megan was maybe upset with Shannon for a different reason. Let me tell you why. We're all watching her stories yesterday, right? Yes, ma'am, we are. And, you know, okay, one of the last pictures she posted was her and Wes, you know, dressed beautifully. She's got a dress with very long sleeves on that covers her fingers. Yes, she does. I was like, did she get proposed to? And is she hiding the engagement ring? I'm so glad that you and I are on the same page.

01:07:07 - 01:07:10 | Speaker 2:

There may have been a discussion in the studio this morning about that.

01:07:10 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 4:

That's so funny. I was going to try to screenshot it and zoom in, but I didn't want to look like that much of a creeper, but I'm invested.

01:07:17 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so are we to assume that if she gets proposed to and gets engaged, she won't post it on her? Because I would think she would pose it right.

01:07:26 - 01:07:34 | Speaker 4:

No, she's going to hide her hand or she just might not wear it. She's going to come home and tell her kids first,

01:07:35 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 2:

and then she's going to surprise us on the radio with it.

01:07:37 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 4:

Really? Yeah, you have to watch her hand. She's going to be wearing gloves or something.

01:07:40 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 5:

But, Tony, did you see what they were wearing yesterday?

01:07:43 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 4:

That was sexy.

01:07:44 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 5:

That was not casual fun Paris date.

01:07:47 - 01:07:50 | Speaker 4:

No, and it was in front of the Eiffel Tower. Great background.

01:07:51 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 3:

So, wait. So, this is interesting. This is like a murder mystery. I don't know. Or this is like a – like I feel like we're trying to read into something. So do we assume that because they were in front of the Eiffel Tower in beautiful outfits that she got proposed to? Or do you think Wes is waiting for like another day and they'll do it?

01:08:11 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I love this love story, so it's okay. Okay. Yeah.

01:08:14 - 01:08:21 | Speaker 2:

Donnie, I think that – I don't think it would happen yesterday because I think he will allow her to celebrate her 40th birthday. No, no, no.

01:08:21 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 5:

Tonight, but tonight, yeah, she was in a backless gown, and he was in a tux. Okay, let's do what we do, like, let's make a bet.

01:08:30 - 01:08:31 | Unknown:

All right.

01:08:31 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, let's do it. Wow, you are a good listener. Shannon and Gabe, so here's the deal. If Shannon, first off, there can be a bunch of these. She's going to be there until, I think she flies back on Monday, right? Mm-hmm. So it could be yesterday was Thursday. So Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Okay, not Monday. She's not going to do it on the flyback. You say, Donnie, what?

01:08:58 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 4:

I say she got proposed to last night on her 40th birthday.

01:09:02 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 3:

Who else says that? Me. Megan?

01:09:03 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 4:

I think you're right, Donnie.

01:09:05 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 3:

All right, Spike, what do you say?

01:09:06 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 2:

No. It'll happen over the weekend maybe.

01:09:09 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 3:

So Friday, Saturday, or do you want to pick one of those?

01:09:11 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 2:

I have further intel. She picked the restaurant last night. Okay. So that's why it didn't happen last night, because I believe he probably did some research on the perfect place to have an engagement.

01:09:21 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 4:

But we didn't get all the information.

01:09:23 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

Wow, I didn't get that intel either. I did say this, though. When I asked her the question of has she visited the jewelry store to go look at rings, she had the gulp voice. She did that on the air that day.

01:09:39 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 2:

You have a poor memory because we asked her in a More Mojo podcast and she admitted that she and Wes had been at a jewelry store looking at talking about her preference for rings.

01:09:50 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes, we did. And you're also underestimating the fact that on her Insta story she posted with him, today was the best day. Thank you for making it more than I am.

01:10:00 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Never dreamed up.

01:10:00 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 5:

All right, I'm going to say yesterday yes, too. I'm going to put my name on that day yesterday. So, Spike, you got to pick Friday or Saturday, and Mike, I need your pick.

01:10:08 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to – let's see. I'm going to say Saturday night.

01:10:11 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so Spike says Saturday night. He may have more intel because he's very close with Shannon.

01:10:15 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 2:

That's true. That's true. No, I have no additional information than what I just shared with you. I just know you're always wrong. You always lose bets. Mike, what do you say then?

01:10:22 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 6:

See, I don't think it's happening this weekend, but if I have to pick a day, I think it's happening Sunday.

01:10:29 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 5:

Sunday, Mike. Yeah.

01:10:31 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 6:

Why do you say it's not going to happen?

01:10:32 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 5:

Why would that be your...

01:10:33 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 6:

Because we're all expecting it.

01:10:35 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you could say no. You could say $1. Okay. So you're going to say no? So Mike says no this whole weekend. KP, you want to put one in here? Reese, put one in? I think she's engaged. You think she's engaged? So you think yesterday? Yep. Reese, yesterday. What about you, KP?

01:10:51 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 6:

I also think she got engaged yesterday.

01:10:53 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 5:

All right, KP.

01:10:54 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 2:

She's been wanting to spend her 40th in Paris for 10 years before she even met Wes. She was planning on going herself. So I don't think he would take that moment from her. I think he would allow that magical birthday because now you get to create two magical nights in Paris.

01:11:11 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 1:

No, disagree. If she wanted the most epic 40th romantic birthday in Paris, that's exactly what she got.

01:11:18 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 6:

I'm with Megan. No, this is her thing. Spike's right. That's why I say no, it didn't happen at all because this is her thing. She wanted it before Wes. Wes wants to make his own moment in memory with her that isn't this because she was already going to do this. I think it'll be somewhere else.

01:11:33 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to say that Mike may be right on this whole thing, and Spike, too, because Shannon has commented before on the show where she said holiday birthdays or holiday engagements aren't good. She wasn't a fan of them. And I remember her specifically saying that because we all got into, I think it might have been birthday engagements.

01:11:55 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 1:

I do agree with her.

01:11:56 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 5:

Because she said you should have a special day for that.

01:11:57 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 1:

I do agree, but I do think there are also exceptions to every rule.

01:12:01 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Well, Donnie, stay on the phone so I get your phone number so we can call you back. She's coming back. She'll be back live on the show Tuesday, okay?

01:12:09 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 3:

I'll be listening.

01:12:10 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 5:

Don't worry. Yeah, but hang on one second because we're going to get your number so we can call you back so we can receive this bag. Which, by the way, there's no dollar amount.

01:12:19 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 4:

I expect a plate of my nachos for lunch.

01:12:23 - 01:13:06 | Speaker 5:

01:13:06 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 2:

with one of our producers and they didn't even remember this story because they're on the younger side but back in 2007 alec baldwin's voicemail to his daughter went viral and this is before things went viral uh after baldwin divorced actress kim basinger a nasty custody battle started over his daughter, Ireland, and then this tape leaked of him cursing out his 12-year-old daughter. Ireland, who's pretty popular now. Yeah, now she's an adult, but back then she was a 12-year-old, and he was a raging idiot to her about, you know, visiting and custody and stuff, and we got a copy of that voicemail, and we used it to do a phone scam.

Is there a DJ on this with him? Is there a producer?

01:21:25 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, what do we got here, KP?

01:21:27 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 1:

I have a good old-fashioned three-way. I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust. Does that excite you at all or no?

01:21:35 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Would that be the greatest threesome ever? Spike, Mike, and Megan together.

01:21:40 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 4:

That sounds like an absolute nightmare. No.

01:21:44 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 2:

All right, guys. We're going to break the tie. We're going to find out which one of these guys can do it on this next one. The next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown, is Spike. Spike.

01:21:55 - 01:21:58 | Speaker 3:

That is Rihanna, Don't Stop the Music. Correct.

01:22:00 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 4:

Damn, I had to get the title so fast.

01:22:03 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 3:

I had to make sure it wasn't Please Don't Stop the Music.

01:22:09 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 4:

Is she going to do this at the halftime show?

01:22:12 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:22:12 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 4:

She's got bigger songs.

01:22:16 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 3:

Do you think there's like a jump around of all of the hits? I think this is a big song.

01:22:21 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 2:

It's a great song. I hope she does.

01:22:22 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 3:

She's got, like, 30 hits to squeeze in 17 minutes and 37 seconds.

01:22:29 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 4:

All right.

01:22:32 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 2:

Good game here from behind. Spike is coming.

01:22:35 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay. Spike in the lead with two. That kind of three.

01:22:39 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 3:

That's what she said.

01:22:40 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 4:

I've had enough of this.

01:22:41 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 3:

We're going to make our own Eiffel Tower.

01:22:42 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 1:

Let me say the score. Okay. Spike in the lead with two. Megan and Mike with one.

01:22:48 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 2:

All right. Got it in. All right. Got it in. Got it in.

01:22:52 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 4:

Shut up!

01:22:54 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 2:

All right, here we go. The next song in the throwback throwdown can make Spike a winner. That song is... Spike.

01:23:06 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 3:

Spike. Spike for the win. That is Bad Romance, Lady Gaga. You just won! Yeah! Sorry, did you want that to go longer? That's what she said.

01:23:22 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations, Stephanie, you have just won the throwback throwdown. Da-da-da-da-da-da. We're setting you up with a ticket, Stephanie.

01:23:36 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank you.

01:23:38 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 2:

Let's all rah-rah. What is it she's saying? all right congratulations enjoy mojo on the morning show uh home of the phone scams the war of the roses dirty on 30 It's good to have you guys listening to us today. I have to bring up a topic here right now that I'm going to bring up, and I am not angry with it. I just find it funny.

01:24:18 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 3:

I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed. I'm just disappointed. Exactly.

01:24:21 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 2:

By the way, did you ever notice that when your parents would say that to you that they are disappointed was worse than if they said to you you're punished for like 12 years? Say that to your kids. parents if you ever want to just get them just say when they're doing something that they shouldn't do say i'm just really disappointed and then walk away ah it's beautiful um so the topic is caught doing during work hours and now we do a lot of crazy stuff during our show and we document it the problem is when you document it during the busiest time of our radio program Thank you.

01:25:00 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 1:

The time that is the most popular, busy time is during the 7.15 to 8.40 time. Because guess what? We do during that time. What? We do a lot of show material, right? That's usually a commercial free time. That's usually a time when we are giving the listeners an opportunity to drive and just hear what we're doing and hear some maybe music every now and again, stuff like that. Yesterday, I go on to KP On Air. Do you guys know who KP On Air is?

01:25:36 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 4:

No. Who's that?

01:25:37 - 01:25:40 | Speaker 1:

KP On Air is our executive producer.

01:25:41 - 01:25:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

01:25:42 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 1:

It's a very high, you know, important job on this radio show. And I see KP taking a bathroom selfie, time-stamped 758.

01:25:57 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 2:

Get it, girl. I'm very proud of you.

01:25:59 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

During the show. And all I kept thinking to myself.

01:26:03 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 2:

You left during my phone scam to take a bathroom selfie?

01:26:07 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 1:

Actually, Spike, she left right after your phone scam because your phone scam ran until, and I look back at the time of this thing, your phone scam ran until 56. And then right after 56, KP walked out. She's like, I'm out. Goodbye.

01:26:22 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 2:

Did you already, wait, did you already delete it?

01:26:24 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 4:

No, it expired. Oh, okay. I got it.

01:26:27 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 2:

Would you like me to send it to you? I think it deserves a mojo in the morning repost.

01:26:34 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 1:

Yes, sure. I'm going to send it right now to all of you guys on the group chat.

01:26:37 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 4:

Before KP says anything, I just want everybody to know, without any information, I'm team KP on this one.

01:26:44 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 3:

I have two things to say. First of all, three. Thank you, Megan. Number one. Two, that's what you get for having a radio show in the middle of my selfie. And three I had to post a selfie Because I looked like The Rock And I needed people to tell me Who wore it better My outfit better I had a black turtleneck on With a chain around my neck And I thought I needed to take a picture Because I looked like Dwayne The Rock

01:27:10 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 1:

Let me bust you on another couple of things And listen, I don't want to pile on you But I'm going to pile on you It's your day And I think that the listeners The listeners will come to the defense of you guys whenever I get in an angry mood, and they don't understand the importance of this radio program and how we have, this is like us all flying a 747, you know?

01:27:32 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, just like it. The same.

01:27:33 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 1:

All right? We have lives that are on our hands every day. We're like open-heart surgeons. But I have looked in the other room at KP, and this was actually not just recently, and I've told KP, man, you have been, like, amazing lately, They like screening calls and scheduling the show and doing stuff. She's been doing an amazing job.

01:27:54 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 3:

I know what you're doing.

01:27:55 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 1:

I remember when she first started the show, it happened, and then I saw it three other times after that, and I've never brought it up on the air. She puts her makeup on in the middle of our topics in the other room. Phones are ringing, and KP's got, what is that thing called that you brush makeup on with? Mascara?

01:28:12 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 3:

A little beauty sponge?

01:28:13 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 1:

No, it's got the little thing. I usually sometimes take a brush from Chelsea, and I tickle myself with it sometimes. It's so good. A brush? That little brush, like, with your putting blush on. Oh, yeah. And she's like sitting there going

01:28:26 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 2:

Well you know Megan's gonna have her back on this one Because Megan does that every morning

01:28:30 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what you're talking about I definitely don't do my makeup and curl my hair during the show Every single day when nobody can see me

01:28:37 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 3:

First of all, I typically do it when we're in spots And I don't have a live break

01:28:40 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 1:

I saw you at least twice doing it While you're screening phone calls

01:28:45 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 3:

Because This company requires me to make TikToks

01:28:49 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 1:

For work

01:28:50 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

So if I get up at 3am I don't have time to prep the whole show and get everything ready, and I'll do all of our topics and get here. So during spots, the two minutes where I'm free, I put on makeup. And it takes me less than eight minutes.

01:29:03 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 1:

Just so you know, I just want you to know, the company holds a gun to our head and says, you put those TikToks up there at that moment.

01:29:10 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 2:

They basically do, actually.

01:29:11 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 3:

Should I pull up the emails demanding our TikToks? And actually, I will forward you the email from Tony that says, Special shout out to KP and Sean Because TikTok is the KP and Sean show right now Because we're the only people posting That was not fair This is me trying to manage my time effectively

01:29:28 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 1:

During the show, I need you Like right now, there's no screener So I'm going to pick up the line Hello, Mojo in the morning

01:29:33 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, they're putting on makeup Hi, I was calling for the Kroger

01:29:36 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes, that's coming up here in just a little bit I'm sorry I'm answering the phone right now Because KP is too busy telling us Why she puts makeup on during the show While we're in the midst of things

01:29:47 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 2:

Now, to be fair, if I were her defense attorney, I would say she does have a headset, so she doesn't need hands to answer the phone.

01:29:54 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Also, we're women. We know how to multitask. Oh, absolutely. Just so you know. Exactly. We're women. Listen.

01:30:00 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 1:

I'm not doing the contest if you're going to stick up for her. What do you do? Okay, question. Here's my question for you then. Here's my question. Okay. Question for you. What do you do during work hours that you don't want your boss to know that you're doing?

01:30:18 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 5:

Text on my phone.

01:30:19 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, everybody does that. I'm talking about like crazy stuff. Like, are there any crazy stuff that you got? Maybe I should open up the phone lines to other people and let you wait for the contest that we're going to do.

01:30:30 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 5:

Um, what, what, what do I do that I don't want my boss to know? Yeah.

01:30:34 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. You ever, you do, you do online shopping. Do you do, uh, vacation?

01:30:41 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 6:

I don't want my boss to know.

01:30:43 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 1:

You what? You what? You bake?

01:30:45 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 6:

Vape. Vape. Vape.

01:30:46 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Oh, you're vaping during the show. That's okay. By the way, did you see Mike, the football coach from the Miami Dolphins that got caught vaping during the show? Mike McDaniels or whatever? Yeah. During the game.

01:30:56 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 2:

No, I didn't, I didn't see that. During the game, all of a sudden, he lifts up his hand, and you see, like, his glove, and then there's something sticking out of the top of it, and he clearly puts it up to his mouth, and the camera is right. And he goes, and you see him just go. That's hilarious.

01:31:15 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 1:

Hey, a couple moments for this contest. Mojo in the morning, hello.

01:31:20 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 4:

I drink margaritas on Friday, that works.

01:31:22 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 1:

Nice. Oh, really?

01:31:23 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 3:

I'm not even mad. I got a damn margarita. Who wants a margarita?

01:31:27 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 1:

What do you do for a living first Before we say it's okay

01:31:31 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 4:

Then you deserve it Because honestly having to deal with that many people Complaining all the time I need a drink too

01:31:41 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 1:

Is that margarita in like a Yeti Because whenever I see A mom with a Yeti I know that that Yeti's got some alcohol in it

01:31:50 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 6:

Exactly

01:31:52 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

Mike, listener Mike What's going on What do you do during work hours?

01:31:58 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 3:

So not what I do, but I used to be the chip guy, like the chip vendor, and I was servicing this store, and when I walked in, the guy said, oh, you're actually going to, like, stock and deliver the chips. The other guy just takes a nap in the back alley until he decides to leave. Oops.

01:32:17 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 1:

He got busted.

01:32:18 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 3:

So that was fun.

01:32:19 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, that is interesting how many people will sleep on the job too. I mean. You hear the stories all the time about people that will find, like, a nice little area.

01:32:29 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 2:

And I don't even mind it. I mind the people that are bad at it and get caught and ruin it for everyone else.

01:32:33 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

That's sleeping on the air.

01:32:37 - 01:32:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Sam. Hi. Hi, Sam. What do you do during work hours?

01:32:43 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 4:

Well, this was when I was much younger and less responsible. But I watched the entire Sons of Anarchy series. Wow.

01:32:49 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. If your boss only knew.

01:32:55 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. I mean, I was productive and working, but still, I think, frowned upon.

01:33:00 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever have to go, oh, God, hold on, I missed something, and rewind it?

01:33:04 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I would have to back up because someone interrupted.

01:33:07 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's like, excuse me, this is a really good opportunity. The one thing I would want to know with people who binge watch during work hours, how many of you leave a phone call unanswered or a customer waiting because it's a good scene? Brandy, hi. KP, our producer, takes selfies and does her makeup during the show. What do you do?

01:33:28 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 6:

Everything but work. I maybe get 20 minutes worth of work done a day. I can stretch it out to about an hour, but I will be fine for my cricket stuff, playing my kid's birthday party, do billing for my mom's business, online shop, Facebook, TikTok, everything but work. TikTok is the big one for me.

01:33:52 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 1:

And are you considered, like, one of the better employees that work at this company?

01:33:57 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely not. I don't know if it's a lot of time.

01:34:01 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 1:

There's set expectations. I like it. I love her. How long have you been with them?

01:34:07 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 6:

About 2012, so 10 years.

01:34:10 - 01:34:13 | Speaker 1:

Man. Amazing. And they keep giving you raises, don't they?

01:34:14 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 6:

They do. Then they keep letting me come back. I don't know why.

01:34:18 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to bestow upon her the bejeweled crown of mediocrity.

01:34:21 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 2:

She has somehow cruised through this job, skated through life successfully.

01:34:27 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 1:

Park's low. I love that. Alyssa, what do you do during work hours?

01:34:34 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 5:

About midway through my shift, I actually enjoy a good blunt. Okay.

01:34:38 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 3:

What do you do? You're not a nurse, are you?

01:34:42 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, sort of. I'm a caregiver at a senior facility.

01:34:45 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 3:

Smoking the reefer. Maybe you need that.

01:34:47 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:34:48 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Put up with the old.

01:34:49 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 1:

Can the patients notice when you're...

01:34:54 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, I do have one patient that enjoys cannabis as well. But other than that, no, I don't...

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 6:

think they notice usually they're sleeping wow that's amazing i like when it goes from the

01:35:05 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 5:

patient like when it's her it's a blunt but when it's a patient it's cannabis

01:35:08 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 6:

erica what's happening hey so i used to manage gas stations and we had to let a third shifter go because he would lock the door at night and then go sit in the back room and watch uh x-rated

01:35:24 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 1:

videos on his phone oh my gosh on camera oh no oh no he was on camera he was on camera that's how

01:35:33 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 6:

we found out because we had a customer complaint that the door was locked one night they wanted to go in and go buy whatever they needed to okay so when you checked out the cameras and seeing

01:35:42 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 1:

that was he doing something that people do with the videos oh yeah oh no i'm sorry and you know

01:35:52 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 5:

He's a third shift guy working at the gas station. We're usually the person that's the first one walking in in the morning saying hello to him.

01:35:58 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yep. So you got to, you know, always wash your hands because you never know before they touch money.

01:36:05 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. All right. Take care of yourself.

01:36:09 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:36:12 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 5:

Megan with the Dirty on the 30 filling in for Shannon. What do you got?

01:36:16 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 4:

Prosecutor Andrea Reeb has announced that Alec Baldwin and Armour Hanner Gugger-Gugger-Tierres Reed will be charged with two counts of involuntary man's letter for the on-set death of Helena Hutchins. The assistant director of that movie, David Halls, has signed a plea agreement for the charge of negligence.

01:36:32 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 5:

He turned on those guys, huh?

01:36:33 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, use of a deadly weapon and will have a suspended sentence as well as six months probation. And also that day that this accident happened, six members of the movie's camera crew walked off the set hours before the accident to protest what they said were unsafe working conditions. So we will be following this.

01:36:52 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 2:

He was actually the producer on this film. He was present on scene. He's an actor who's probably starred in 40-plus gun movies. He's very familiar. And he said, I believe, in reports and interviews that he's very familiar with the use of guns.

01:37:09 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 4:

Big congratulations for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen because they happily welcomed a new baby to the family. I guess that's something to be excited about, right? This is not one of the cases of F them babies. The couple posted a picture to their socials of their two older children holding their newest family member, who we now know is a girl named Esty Maxine Stevens. The newborn is the couple's rainbow baby. They are welcoming this baby nearly three years after losing Jack. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. They've both been very public in regards to losing their son and their very long IVF journey that has resulted in their beautiful daughter. Aaron Carter's older siblings are putting together a concert in order to honor his life and raise money for charity. Nick Carter was there and so was some other Backstreet Boys like AJ McLean, Lance Bass. Oh, they already had it? It's already happened? Happened this week. Lance Bass from NSYNC was there. Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees. Members of O-Town, LFO We're all there at Heart in West Hollywood. The guys performed some of their biggest hits, but they were able to raise about $150,000 for an organization called On Our Sleeves, and that organization works towards the goal of giving every community in America access to free, evidence-informed educational resources, educating families, and breaking stigmas when it comes to drug usage.

01:38:27 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 5:

I'd go to that show. Right? That would be an amazing show to go to.

01:38:31 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 3:

Totally.

01:38:32 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:38:33 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 4:

Are you the same guy that made fun of me for going to that 90s concert, Mojo?

01:38:44 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, no, I made fun of you because you went to a Vanilla Ice concert. It was not a 90s concert. You're making it seem like it was a bunch of artists, right?

01:38:54 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 3:

It was. It was a bunch of artists. I can't remember anybody else who performed that night. I was a little bit drunk, but it was fun.

01:39:00 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 5:

There's two shows that are coming up, And you guys tell me which one you would go to of these shows. Sorry to interrupt your dirty, but I just want to really quick, because I think you'll like this.

01:39:08 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 3:

No, I love stuff like this, yeah.

01:39:08 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 5:

Spike, you sent us the Lovers and Friends Tour, which is Nelly, Flo Rida, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Pitbull, Usher, Christina Aguilera, Genuine, Boys to Men, 50 Cent. There's a whole bunch. Or would you go to this show, which is the Big Splash Hootie Fest, Hootie and the Blowfish, Hootie and the Blowfish. Goo Goo Dolls, Bare Naked Ladies, Collective Soul, Gin Blossoms, Everclare, and Edwin McCain.

01:39:36 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 4:

Okay, the second one, only because that was all of the playlists my dad would play by the pool every summer. First show, for sure.

01:39:43 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 5:

That first show is going to be amazing. The second show is just in a great destination, because I think you're going, where's the second one at? The second one, I think, is Cancun. So, kind of cool. All right, back to your dirty thing.

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Actually, let's talk about Nelly a little bit more. Oh, this is cool. Bye.

01:40:00 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 2:

Is it just me, or are the 2000s back?

01:40:02 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 1:

They're back. They're back, baby. The only thing that we can stop bringing back is low-rise jeans and corsets as shirts. If that would stop by the younger generation, I would really be happy. I also saw a new trend. These youths out here are trying to throw bright-colored shirts under polos for a pop of color. Stop it. Trust me. We've done it. Stop it. It's not good.

01:40:25 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 3:

You don't have to make the same mistakes.

01:40:27 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 1:

It is not good. Nelly was performing in Australia And my question is Did he find a plug while he was there Because there's a video going around on Twitter Showing him singing while rolling his eyes He's kind of grinding his teeth He's touching his chest He was performing at Melbourne's Juice Fest And people online were speculating Was he rolling or not He didn't comment on whether the speculation Was accurate or not But Spice Adams is a comedian And he spoofed this performance on his Insta And Nelly reacted with a bunch of laughing emojis So kind of confirming that He found a pull up while he was there You know who I'm absolutely obsessed Head over feels in love with like recently

01:41:08 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 2:

Yes

01:41:09 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 1:

Jennifer Coolidge man Oh yeah I'm loving her like redemption arc era That we are in right now I am here for it And Jennifer Coolidge said she had a bird's eye view Of her co-star Lenny Kravitz's room While filming their new movie Shotgun Wedding During an interview she said Lenny Kravitz had a room That you could see from my balcony Like zeroed in on it somehow The point of view was just on Lenny's balcony So I saw everything, he's so sexy She was saying everything we would say She was not shy about Looking at Lenny, she said he does have a guitar But he also had this boombox with the best music I was hoping he would give me one of those tapes I'm going to ask him tonight for a tape I'm going to ask him for a lot of things

01:41:49 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask a question? There was a typo in the 5 of 665 Why did you guys not correct me?

01:41:53 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 1:

You said Kenny Kravitz?

01:41:55 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 2:

It was written down as Kenny Kravitz, and I thought Kenny Kravitz might have been his, like, brother. Or not brother, but son or something like that. Why did you guys not correct me during the 5 of 6.55?

01:42:04 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 3:

Because we wanted to enjoy it twice. Have you say it again.

01:42:07 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:42:07 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 1:

I don't correct you. Your name's on the show. Whatever you say is right.

01:42:12 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 2:

I love it. By the way, speaking of the 90s and stuff like that, would you go see Lenny Kravitz in concert?

01:42:19 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 1:

I would, only to hope that his pants split again and we all get another view.

01:42:22 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea loves Lenny Kravitz. Unfortunately, right now, I can only afford Kenny Kravitz.

01:42:31 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 2:

Actually, the interesting thing is our neighbor, Britt, gave Chelsea the greatest gift, she says, that she's ever gotten in her life, which was a painted picture portrait of Chelsea and her grandfather dancing at our wedding together.

01:42:47 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 1:

I saw that. Did you see how Chelsea posted?

01:42:49 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea cried so much when she got it and said it was the best gift ever. So right now I'm in the process of finding somebody to paint Lenny Kravitz naked to hang next to her.

01:42:58 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 1:

Brittany really is the best. I love her.

01:43:00 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 2:

Isn't she? I think I'll win this contest.

01:43:06 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 1:

01:44:40 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. so mike had a guy that's a friend of his frantically call him up and what was the story mike so he uh he shot me a text and i'm uh if you're gonna tell me something really important let's do it in person kind of person so he texts me and he's like hey

01:45:00 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 3:

man i gotta chat with you uh what are you doing tonight you wanna you wanna come out and i'm like oh i gotta i'm gonna give him a call and then if he says it's something serious i'll say yeah you know what i'll be out there because i like to do it in person so i call him up and he's like i can't really talk about it right here and you can tell there's like noise in the background so he must be at whatever whatever bar he was at the time he's like can you meet me at vitally's and and come have a drink and i'm like i don't go out on a school night you know i can't i don't go out that much like if i if i go out it's like a conversation that i've had with ellie a week in advance and we've planned you know that night like last minute is is not necessarily my thing all the time so

01:45:34 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 4:

you got kids you got family you got work you had all this stuff yeah yeah yeah so i'm like okay man

01:45:39 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 3:

and i tell ellie i'm like hey this is i don't know what's going on but it sounds serious and you know i my first initial thought was health like there was a health thing and i'm like i got to go in person because if i never go in person i just do it over the phone it just doesn't feel right to me so i i'm like i'm gonna go out for a little bit so i go meet him and i walk in the door And he's surrounded by like three or four of our friends. And I'm like, what is going on? This has got to be really serious.

01:46:03 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 4:

He's trying to get you out of the house for a guy's night.

01:46:06 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's what I thought, too. And I'm like, that's like a it's a weird way to do it. But OK, I mean, if you just asked in advance, there's a good chance I'm going to do it. I just got to I got to make sure.

01:46:17 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 4:

Would Ali be upset if you came home and she said, what was so wrong? And you said nothing. He just wanted me to come out for a guy's night.

01:46:24 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 3:

She would have just said, why didn't he just say that? like yeah she's totally i mean she would have been mad that because she would have thought that i made something up for that like she would have thought in that moment but like we just talk about it like i just say sure hey hey i'm gonna go do this and anyways so i sit down and i'm like what's up man what's going on guys and i'm like you just want to hang out huh and he's like no i got everybody here because i wanted to tell you something i'm like oh boy so i'll look at each other and he winds up and he's like i'm getting a divorce oh and i'm like oh man i'm sorry i'm I'm sorry to hear that. He's like, yeah, I just wanted to get everybody out so that I could have a little impromptu divorce party. I knew none of you would come if I said that right now.

01:47:03 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 1:

What? So he wasn't looking for support. He wasn't going through his struggle. He just wanted to have some drinks. No, he wanted

01:47:09 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 3:

to celebrate the fact that he's getting a divorce. Yeah, you're right. If it was just to support like, hey man, I just needed you guys to talk to him. I'd be like, of course. Yeah, of course. Again, tell me that. Do you have any idea that this guy was going through a struggle? No, not a clue. Not even a little bit. I would have never guessed in a million years. Were all the other guys as equally shocked as you were? Yeah, we all kind of looked at each other like, so that's why you asked us to all come here? And so they were like, we're out anyways. We're going to have drinks. I am thinking about like, I need to go home, man. Like this is what I came out for. Like we could have had a conversation on the sidebar about this and then sat down and had a conversation about it. And then, but, like, this is, like, you wasted my one night out. You know what I mean? Yeah.

01:47:57 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 2:

We wasted the good surprise on you, I guess. Yes, exactly.

01:48:01 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. I'm the opposite of you. If somebody has something important to tell me, tell me over the phone. Really? So that I don't give the bad facial expression or the bad reaction that they want. You know what I mean? Yeah, you want to tell me something, you know, tell me something on the phone.

01:48:17 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 1:

But we know on the phone you're not listening. That's also true.

01:48:20 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 4:

That might be one of the other reasons, too. But don't make me actually have to drive all the way to somewhere to give me that detail. It's like firing somebody, you know, bosses and stuff. Like, the bosses, don't wait until Friday before payday. Just fire me when you know you want to fire me. Put me out of my misery.

01:48:38 - 01:48:52 | Speaker 3:

I get that, but I wouldn't want a phone call that just says, hey, you're fired. I would rather, like, be here. We talk face-to-face, handle it, and then we move on. And I have to hear – and if it's good or bad news, I have to be in person.

01:48:52 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 4:

So this guy, this buddy of yours, did he file for the divorce or did she file for the divorce?

01:48:58 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 3:

She filed for it, I guess. I guess he's – Wait, she filed and he's happy about it? I guess so, yeah. I'm sure there was more going on. But what I was told is that there was – like he just gambles a lot, I guess. And it got to a point where she didn't know what he was doing. And while we're there, he's buying all these things from the bar, like the gambling things from the bar, Kino or whatever. Oh, yeah.

01:49:23 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 1:

And I'm like, what? Oh, boy. So now you're supporting, you're aiding and abetting to what caused the divorce.

01:49:29 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

I was so irritated at the time, too. I was just like, you should have used my DraftKings account. Code WSNS.

01:49:38 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

So you're saying he's single.

01:49:39 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. That's what you want, Megan. You want a gambling guy.

01:49:43 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 2:

somebody who is irresponsible with their finances we love stability in our 30s somebody kind of

01:49:49 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

pulled that on me once where they were like hey i need your help can you swing by after work and they sounded and they were they sounded really concerned i'm like yeah of course and they're like yeah i just really need you if you if you can

01:50:00 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 5:

do it today it'd be really awesome just come by and i'm like okay they wanted help hooking up electronics and they're like well you're the you're the guy with surround sound knowledge and i'm like dude you made it sound like you were going through a crisis and they're like well

01:50:13 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 4:

crisis before the super bowl well they couldn't have like done it over the phone they couldn't

01:50:18 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 5:

have called you or facetime or just just say can you help me hook up my speakers and i would have been like yeah dude friday i'll come over have a six-pack like you made it sound like you needed

01:50:26 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 3:

to be today i had so much to do here here's a question can you deliver bad news through text message or a phone call like is it okay to be able to deliver bad news and here's mike's friend who is getting divorced buddies are all hanging out could he just say guys i'm getting divorced like is that too personal of a thing to do through a text message um or like can you deliver like you know i've had people tell me things on the phone about an illness or something that's going on and i've had that happen before you know but well in both of our cases in both stories

01:51:05 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 5:

they they they made it sound like they couldn't tell us for a reason they were going through a struggle there was something going on i need to talk to you in person so you know being a good friend mike's going to be there when in fact the dude wasn't going through a struggle he just didn't if he knew if he told that mike and everybody else they might not show up at his little party So that's why he was being secretive because he wanted everybody to drink with.

01:51:26 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 3:

They're not going to aid and abet his issue that's going on. When you got divorced, did you tell people through text or did you call people and tell people like or in person? What did you do?

01:51:38 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 5:

Well, with family and close friends and everybody really important in my life, I told them in person because I know there's going to be questions and there's going to be a conversation that's hard. And as soon as you text somebody, they go, oh, my God, I'm calling you. So I just call them when I have time instead. That there's people that I'm distant with that might have, like, text me that I haven't talked to in a year. And I go, oh, well, you know, give them the news because we don't talk that often.

01:52:02 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because whenever I have news to give, it's usually, you know, Chelsea's usually the first person that I give the news to. And then the second person after that is usually, like, one of my kids, like, Joe.

01:52:14 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay, then who?

01:52:15 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 3:

Possibly and stuff.

01:52:16 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 2:

Let's keep going.

01:52:17 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 3:

My sister, Tracy, usually, or Pat, are usually the people. The barista at Starbucks. Megan, you're far down that list. But I will tell you in the group chat. I'll tell you all at the same time.

01:52:28 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 5:

Well, she won't read that.

01:52:29 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 3:

But when you go through a moment like the divorce, Spike, who was the first person that you told him? Because you guys didn't do the divorce right away. You moved out right away or whatever. Yeah, yeah. So who was the first person that you said something to?

01:52:42 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 5:

Once the decision was finally made, I mean, after talking to our kids, I think it was the parents and the siblings. Okay.

01:52:50 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 3:

What about anybody here in the studio? Megan wants to know if she was one of the first. No. Are you one of the last to know?

01:52:57 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 5:

I didn't tell you guys for a while.

01:52:59 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm always the last to know the juicy stuff. It makes me so mad.

01:53:04 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 3:

Mike, who will you be the first to tell your next big news story? And hopefully it's a good news story, too.

01:53:12 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 4:

Don't say Megan. I don't know. TMC. Yeah, yes.

01:53:18 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 2:

You know what? The next time I have big news, I'm not telling any of you. I'm just going to post it on social media. And then I'll refuse to talk about it on the air.

01:53:24 - 01:53:36 | Speaker 3:

I do love those people that do that, though, that can keep it so long to just post it. Like the people that tell you that they're having a baby and you find out on social media and you think that you're good enough friends with them to get a phone call.

01:53:37 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 4:

We got yelled at. Allie didn't tell one of her aunts, like really close aunts. Because we did the family thing on both sides, and it was right around the holidays. and then i instantly just told uh you guys i mean i told a couple other like close friends but then i told you guys and then we went on the air with it and she never told her aunt and we had a birthday party recently oh man that's so dumb i'll say it because you can't that's listen

01:54:02 - 01:54:10 | Speaker 5:

i'll i'm not attacking your aunt personally but those people that internalize it make it about them it's like dude you got news maybe you forgot or maybe there's other stuff going on like you

01:54:10 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 3:

just but how close are you to her like is she like a very close oh yeah she should have she

01:54:15 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 4:

should have it wasn't like she was i don't know she should have i could see that i could see where

01:54:19 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 5:

you'd be upset look at it and go okay well there was a mistake made you forgot sam good morning

01:54:25 - 01:54:37 | Speaker 1:

what's going on um every time someone passes in our family i'm the one that has to relay the messages to my siblings so to the point where my little brother now answers the phone going who

01:54:37 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 3:

died oh geez oh boy i don't want that yeah i'm telling you that it's isn't it sad when that

01:54:44 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 1:

happens yeah but i'm the only one that ever knows so i've got to relay the message to everybody

01:54:48 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

phone and yeah he answers the phone now who died did you ever see those uh those posts that were made over the holidays where kids were just randomly telling their parents of a celebrity

01:55:00 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 5:

dying that didn't die yes i cannot tell you how much fun it was to watch those oh my god i loved it the moms i was like it's like oh my god oh my god who you know uh reba mcintyre oh yeah like they were picking these old celebrities well and they were and then some of them were like so obscure celebrities it was like oh no oh no and then it was like bobby from the big life or something Oh, my God, they died? Like, mom reacting like that. Kelsey, your voice is sky. Oh, I'm voice is sky too. Hi, Kelsey.

01:55:36 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So, kind of going along with Mike's story here, I am currently going through a divorce after 10 years. And I called my best friend who lives in a neighboring state. I said, hey, hon, you know, sorry to be calm about bad news, but I'm getting a divorce. She's like, oh, my God, me too. And so we're talking about it Talking about the situation I waited a couple days And I called my other best friend Who was on vacation I'm like, hey hon Sorry you ruined your vacation I'm going through a divorce She's like, oh my god, me too

01:56:07 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god

01:56:08 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 2:

And my two best friends Are all going through a divorce right now Wow

01:56:14 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 5:

And we are loving it They're loving it

01:56:16 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 4:

Got some support there

01:56:17 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 5:

There's something in the air Going on right now That you guys are breathing And you say you're all loving it So are you guys going out Like hanging out And partying and drinking and stuff

01:56:26 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, because my one friend is in a neighboring state We kind of picked a date in the middle of July And we're all just going to go have fun

01:56:35 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 5:

Where are you going to go?

01:56:38 - 01:56:39 | Speaker 2:

We have no clue yet

01:56:39 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 5:

That's a Vegas trip if I've ever heard one It's time for you guys to go out there Those are the people that you run into in Vegas And they're like, we're all going And the girls are like Alright, don't get same room You guys are going to be in separate rooms What's going on, Misfit Nicole? Hello, Nicole.

01:56:56 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 1:

Hey. Morning, everybody. Good morning. What's going on? So I had a friend, and I probably should be voice disguised because I'm telling her business, but she had a divorce party, and she left with her husband that same night. Wait, wait, wait.

01:57:13 - 01:57:16 | Speaker 5:

So she had a divorce party.

01:57:16 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 1:

So my friend had a divorce party. Her husband shows up at the divorce party, and everybody's like, you know, oh, my God, like, you know, like, what is he doing here? you know, and, like, we didn't want her to see him. They wind up getting back together.

01:57:29 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. So what do you do if you buy her a gift for her divorce party and you find out that they're together?

01:57:36 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 1:

I mean, we didn't buy her anything. We just, you know, like, we had, like, penis cupcakes. And we were like, oh, my God. But, you know, and, you know, it's kind of like, thanks for Randy. You know what I'm saying? Because it's like, hey, she's single. She's about that.

01:57:50 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 5:

I actually kind of think that that's cool, though, that they got back together. No, I do too

01:57:56 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 1:

I just was like, what's the point? We could have just had a party

01:57:58 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 5:

Right, exactly Jordan?

01:58:02 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah

01:58:03 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

01:58:05 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 3:

So I used to It was a water care business It was just me and the one guy So it wasn't really a big job But he kept saying It's like, oh, you and your wife should come over We should get her some time It's like, yeah, yeah, yeah I mentioned it a few times And, like, a week later, he called me. It's like, not even on Friday. It's like, you should come over right now. Like, okay, you're, like, 45 minutes away. Like, I'm really nervous. I'm like, why do I want to go over? So I thought, I can't. You just tell me over the phone. He goes, yeah, it's actually not working out. I'm going to have to let you go. Oh, my God. He fired. He was like. Oh, no. I asked him, it's like, do you want me to drive 45 minutes across town to walk in your door so you can fire me? Wow. He's like, yeah, I guess we could have just done this on the phone.

01:59:03 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Lucky for me, Mojo never invites me over. Mojo in the morning show. Get it out of your head I'm not playing it I'm just actually getting into the next topic Spike, the topic is going to be called I lost brain cells just hearing this

01:59:29 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

You ever sit at one of those restaurants Where the tables are all right up against each other And it's like, I mean It's all the time in the small In big cities like New York or San Francisco They just have tiny restaurants and a lot of tables but i don't expect it here but we were all so close to each other you could hear each other's conversations and at lunch i heard a girl at the next table say she thought all dogs were male and all cats were female no that makes sense i just dropped my fork and look i looked over like what

02:00:00 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 8:

what did she say like what am i missing this out of context or something and i look up and her friend looked as confused as i was and her friend's like did you think they were all the same animal and she's like well all the pets i thought the dogs were male and the cats i think that our public schools are properly funded i said oh my god i immediately typed it into my phone i said this is the topic of what did you hear that was just so stupid you lost brain cells for just hearing it and it reminded me of the story i was telling you guys in the studio last week i didn't share this on the on the air but my friend lids uh lids well lindsay i'm gonna embarrass her and say her real name she said they should make we're out and she's like they should make virgin edibles for people who don't like weed oh babe and i was like oh babe you mean candy and cookies like food

02:00:50 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 7:

she's blonde by the way technically did she mean like cbd versus thc i don't know what she meant

02:00:55 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 8:

She was like, they should just make those, if I want to eat the snacks without the weed.

02:01:00 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay, so she just wanted it for the snacks and stuff.

02:01:02 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I don't want to have weed. I just want the gummies. I'm like, yeah, it's called gummies. Gummy bears. Yeah.

02:01:09 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 7:

It's funny when somebody will say something like that, and you just want to go shake your head. Because some of these people that will say that, you're like, you actually have a job. Right. You have a family.

02:01:20 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 8:

Oh my gosh, I said to Meg, you know these person, they can legally vote and reproduce and own a house and raise children. There's not a lot of requirements out there to function in society.

02:01:33 - 02:01:37 | Speaker 7:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 or text 95500.

02:01:38 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 4:

I have to share with you what some guy told me the other day. He was asking me on a date and I said, all right, do you have any ideas? And he goes, let's go to the palace And I'm like, what do you mean? He's like, the palace of Auburn Hills And I'm like, the one that they demolished Like six years ago? I'm like, for a first date? And he's like, yeah, let's sneak into the palace I'm like, I'm not 12 What are we going to do? Hang from the rafters?

02:02:10 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 8:

It's a parking lot now

02:02:12 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 7:

So he just wanted you to go there and hang out Because it is, for those that have not seen What it looks like over there It is like an empty parking lot Where they keep cars that don't have chips in them

02:02:23 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 4:

This guy didn't know that they demolished the palace Oh

02:02:26 - 02:02:29 | Speaker 7:

I thought maybe he just wanted to go to the parking lot And hang out

02:02:29 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 4:

Was he pretty?

02:02:31 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 8:

Yeah

02:02:31 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 7:

What's going on? Mojo in the morning, hello

02:02:34 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi, my daughter says this to me all the time That I make her lose brain cells Like we were talking about money And why is it called pounds in English? Like in American, we say money Like why is it pounds in English? She's like you make me lose brain cells

02:02:46 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

02:02:47 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay

02:02:49 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

I have thoughts It's not in American We're English speakers too

02:02:53 - 02:02:57 | Speaker 3:

This is why I can live with brain cells I'm American

02:02:57 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning

02:03:01 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 7:

Hello

02:03:01 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi

02:03:03 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 7:

How are you? You thought you lost brain cells When you heard

02:03:07 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 1:

My friend told me Asked me if In Italy Is it the same son That we have here No Oh my gosh

02:03:15 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 8:

Oh my gosh Well, I did have someone that was looking at my photography once They wanted to buy a picture This has gone back many years But they said, oh, is that a morning sunset or a nighttime sunset? And I looked at them, I was like, excuse me? And they're like, when did you take that sunset? And I'm like, you mean sunrise or sunset? They were like, oh yeah, yeah, that's what I meant

02:03:36 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 7:

Spencer, what's up?

02:03:39 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm from the Toledo area My friend Davinia was hanging out watching the new Hocus Pocus movie And I told her, like, yeah, they filmed this scene in Rhode Island. And she goes, oh, isn't that in New Jersey? I said, I just stared at her. I'm like, what did you just say? And she goes, Rhode Island's in New Jersey, right? I said, you know, it's a whole separate state.

02:04:04 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 6:

Can I tell you mine? So I didn't know that the whale with the unicorn horn on it, what is that called?

02:04:12 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 8:

A narwhal.

02:04:14 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 6:

That's a real thing, right?

02:04:15 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 8:

It's a real animal, yeah

02:04:16 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 6:

I did not know that I thought people were messing with me for the longest time And I thought that was fake Sounds like a unicorn Yep Brandy?

02:04:28 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, my mother-in-law is notorious for saying stupid stuff

02:04:32 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 7:

By the way, I hope she doesn't listen

02:04:34 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't even care, she knows It is common knowledge Where do we start?

02:04:41 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 8:

Give us an example

02:04:42 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 3:

They told me that the male, a Blue Jay is a male cardinal. Oh, babe. They told me whoever's on the road the longest has the right-of-way. And not only does he tell me that, but his father's son this. Her son told me this. I'm like, oh, my gosh, it runs in the family.

02:04:59 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 8:

That's great.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Sarah?

02:05:03 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 6:

Hi. So a friend of mine, we work at a preschool together. And it was right before Thanksgiving. And she asked one of our Asian families if they celebrate Thanksgiving in China.

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:05:19 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 6:

Is she pretty? Yeah. Maybe that'll get her through life. It was one of those, like, we're teaching their children, and you just asked that question.

02:05:34 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Jessie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. They said it, and you thought you lost a brain cell when they did.

02:05:41 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 6:

My friend thought every new year was a new century.

02:05:45 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 2:

Every new year is a new century.

02:05:47 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

02:05:48 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 6:

Every year. Feels like it. It does. She's blonde.

02:05:53 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 2:

She's blonde. Ash, what's going on?

02:05:57 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo, how are you guys doing?

02:05:58 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 2:

We're good. What's going on? You got something to contribute?

02:06:01 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 5:

I have indeed. I had this young man ask me what language we spoke in English in England. He thought he was messing around, and I said, are you serious? He goes, yeah. I said, well, what language do you speak in Spain? He said, Spanish. I said, okay. I said, what language do you speak in Italy? He goes, Italian. I said, and what language do you speak in England? And he had this blank look on his face. And he was a student doing medicine, and I went, hmm. Oh, no. Because let me know when you're a doctor because I am not coming to you.

02:06:40 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. I like Ronnie's Ronnie. Brother Mojo, what's happening? What's happening, Ronnie? You guys know who Ronnie is, don't you? The best in the West and the least in the East.

02:06:51 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

The best in the West and the least in the East and the North and South are begging for you, Mojo, baby.

02:06:55 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, is this something, Ronnie, is this something that you actually said?

02:07:00 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. No, sir. My wife asked me, how do fish do it? I told her at night. And she went to work the next day, and she come home, and she says, everybody I've met you that you just turned and walked away.

02:07:20 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 2:

How do fish do it?

02:07:21 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 1:

I love you, dear. Some things are better just Google than ask out loud.

02:07:25 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 2:

As a matter of fact, I'm Googling it right now. Fish having sex. I just want to say that. Thank you, Ronnie. Take care of yourself, buddy.

02:07:32 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 1:

Have a great one. Friendly reminder this morning that you are good enough. I mean, we're a bunch of idiots that just happen to have a radio show. And chances are you're funnier than we are. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:08:30 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 2:

You're going to die tonight We'll tell you all the details

02:08:34 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Tonight at 11 o'clock

02:08:36 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 2:

Plus we'll have the weather with Ben Bailey and You know whatever Kim Adams Real quick so Reese almost died What happened to you Reese

02:08:47 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 8:

Driving home from work the other day In the fast lane because that's the only way I know how to drive

02:08:51 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 2:

and this lady wanted to get over you're like jed though when you say that because jed always goes

02:08:56 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 8:

all gas no brakes always always in forever but i'm driving in the fast lane this lady's trying to get over i was gonna let her over at first but then i kind of realized she wasn't really my pace as in she was a really slow driver so i'm like oh just get behind me she freaked out at the fact that i wouldn't let her over and not just freaked out she followed me home and like the road rage She was insane, yeah. She was flicking me off, laying on the horn. I almost had to call 911 or do some wild stuff just to make sure she didn't kill me. She didn't let it go, huh? No, no, she would not. It's kind of scary. I'm happy to be alive.

02:09:36 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 7:

Where were you and where was she? Was she merging onto the road?

02:09:39 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 8:

It was 696.

02:09:41 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so she was getting on the highway?

02:09:43 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, or no, we were both on the freeway. I was in the fast lane, and she was in that middle lane.

02:09:48 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:09:48 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 8:

So she was just trying to get over. but there was more than enough room like i i she must have just been having like a really bad day

02:09:54 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 7:

or something wow i mean there's a lot of people in the state that don't know how to merge i don't know

02:10:00 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 4:

why they don't look in their mirror and go oh they're coming up real fast i'll wait till they pass instead of just pulling right in front of you right how glad you said it yeah because when

02:10:08 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 2:

i say people good man but you right yeah you hate michigan drivers i i love i love that y'all properly know how to use the fast lane nobody people camp in ohio and it drives me nuts but everything else you guys are very aggressive drivers and it's kind of scary the one thing i always say in my car is like ohio plates i got a high place i don't know what i'm doing leave me

02:10:28 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 3:

long how long do you how long did she follow you off of 696 you live a good distance from 696

02:10:35 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 5:

i was in royal oak so she followed me probably 15 minutes i don't know the exact distance but yeah it was a hot minute she was that like upset actually hating yourself that much yeah you're

02:10:45 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 4:

gonna like let someone ruin your day that you're gonna actually threaten them and follow them

02:10:49 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 5:

that's crazy now i have ptsd every time i see a gray ford escape there's so many bad road ragers

02:10:56 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 4:

out there right now i experienced a two this week and i'm just like dude now you're using your car as a weapon and you're gonna threaten you're gonna not only like risk lives but you're also gonna risk ruining your car because you're angry that you couldn't merge fest yeah it's crazy

02:11:11 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 3:

crazy 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 if you've experienced this but i did i tell you what a cop friend of mine told me that somebody did as a revenge to a road rager what i in because reese I don't know if you're the type of person that would ever do something like this. They ended up getting busted for it. And a buddy of mine is a cop at one of the local townships and had to go and visit someone's home because they got the license plate number and make of the car because the person was in the midst of a road rage thing. Now, they were, according to my cop friend, they were like Reese where they were the innocent victim. They reached into something in their car Grabbed it and threw it out on the street So that the person who was road raging them Would run over nails They kept, the woman kept nails That's bad Like, you know, hammering nails In her little center council So if somebody ever road raged her She would just open up her window and throw it out

02:12:15 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 4:

Does she not understand that's also road rage?

02:12:17 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's terrifying It's interesting. Were you thinking about how you were going to protect yourself in this thing?

02:12:22 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 5:

I did have some change in my center console that I was thinking I could throw at her car if it really got to that level. Once I got to my neighborhood, though, she drove off. So I don't know what that was about.

02:12:36 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. You get scared of what's going to happen out there, and you never know who has a weapon that they could do something with.

02:12:45 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 4:

and they're already displaying crazy so you don't need to take it up a notch and and respond because that's not going to work it's it drives me crazy that people don't understand when you merge on a highway you're supposed to catch up to speed yep and people aren't supposed to all move out of the way obviously if there's room next to me i'm going to turn over get out of the lane and help you but sometimes you can't move so it's up to you to get up to speed and weave your way in in between cars people think they get in and they slam on the you have to slam on the brakes because they're going 40 miles per hour on the highway and going to cause an accident and then they start getting mad that you didn't let them in and they start getting in front of you and slamming on the brakes and giving you the finger to teach a lesson i'm like well you seem so worried about merging now

02:13:26 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 3:

you seem to be doing the exact same thing taylor sounds like she was yelling at somebody just a

02:13:31 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 1:

second ago were you yelling at somebody taylor no my daughter was yelling at me for a toy

02:13:36 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 3:

oh okay taylor what happened to you um just before halloween um my husband works nice and

02:13:44 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 1:

i pick him up around four in the morning so i was driving up the van dyke expressway and there was nobody behind me but one person next to me and he kept like trying to go faster to get in front of me and i'm like like what reese said just get behind me there's no one there and he swerved into the lane and cut me off so i tried to like swerving to the left and i hit the wall and totaled the car oh yeah and as i was crawling out like i literally had to crawl out of the car and i stood up and looked around and i was kind of confused for a second and he had stopped like 20 feet ahead and then just drove off when he saw me get out so did the were they the cops or anybody get him no not that i know of um i called my husband and i called the police and they pretty much said because there's like no cameras and i didn't get a plate They really don't know how to get them.

02:14:36 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 3:

You know what the greatest thing about a Tesla is? A Tesla has cameras all around the car. So at any moment, you can go back on a Tesla, and you can see what happens on the roads. So if you are driving, you can see.

02:14:51 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 4:

You can go back and use that.

02:14:52 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

You can go back and use it. In a case like this, that's actually why you would probably want it. Nikki, what's up? Hi.

02:15:00 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 1:

happened on the day i was told i needed neck surgery for a spinal cord compression and they said uh if you were to get a car accident you'd be paralyzed so i was pulling out of wendy's uh in chesterfield and 23 and gratiot and the lady in front of me would not go and i'm like so i just went on my horn and she's still sitting there and then she's like blocking the traffic there so i'm like okay you know i go around her and that was my sin she must have been i don't know on drugs or something so she chases me through like you know busy intersections and i was going fast to get away from her she literally was chasing me and chased me off the road my tires like i was so scared so just like the last card call 9-1-1 i had a partial plate they did absolutely nothing the 9-1-1 caller it was like she goes oh well you have to come to the station i said i'm scared for my life right can someone come here right now and she's like um so do you don't want to report it then? I said, yeah, I do, but I don't even know where the police station is. This lady could have a gun coming back to get me, you know? Yeah, they do nothing. I'm like, okay. So her last question was, so you don't want to report it then?

02:16:08 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 9:

I was like, oh my God, okay. That's the person answering phones for the cops. What's up, Lisa?

02:16:14 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mojo. Hi, Spike. Good morning. Good morning. So I have a friend who carries when his road rage is enacted by somebody he carries wd-40 to spray their windshield and a roll of nickels that he will

02:16:33 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 2:

throw at the windshield what the hell does it matter with that he just straight up smashing

02:16:37 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 3:

windshields and making sure they can't see through them yeah i mean he will give them by the third try to you know uh then he's like nope game on do you know that that's probably

02:16:48 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 2:

the guy we're all scared of on the road right yeah but you gotta think about this somewhere

02:16:53 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 8:

out there, there's a bunch of nickels just laying on the road. You could get a lot of money right now.

02:16:57 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 4:

It's the same as that person that had the thing with the nails that threw out the window. You're now contributing to the problem because you're taking up another level, and there's innocent drivers on that road that are going to also

02:17:07 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 9:

be victims. I think, Mario, your friend has a better thing to be as a defense. Reese, you need this. Write this down. What did your friend have, Mario?

02:17:17 - 02:17:46 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's a little less violent than what I'm hearing, it sounds like, but it's probably just as effective but i have a friend which i questioned our friendship because i didn't even know this about her but she carries a car dildo that she shakes at driving can you explain what a car dildo is well it's simply a dildo she keeps in her car i'm assuming so she just has it at the

02:17:46 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 4:

ready and that's her weapon and she just picks it up and shakes it at them um apparently

02:17:53 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 5:

That's her weapon of choice, yes.

02:17:54 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 9:

I love her. Can I be honest with you? If somebody was angry, like really, really angry, and you shook one of those at them, it would instantly put a smile on your face.

02:18:02 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, I'd be laughing. For sure.

02:18:04 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 9:

Not only does it put a smile on the person using its face, but the people that see.

02:18:08 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to go out and buy one today.

02:18:10 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 9:

All right.

02:18:11 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 7:

Everybody should have one.

02:18:12 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. They should sell that, by the way. I'm sorry, Mike, but they should sell that at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

02:18:17 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 7:

A car builder.

02:18:18 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 8:

You know what I'm saying, Mike? We need a Mojo in the Morning sticker that goes on the back of people's cars that say, if you cut me off, I'm going to talk about you on Mojo in the Morning. It's great.

02:18:27 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 9:

Great idea. Mike! Yep. There's some marketing money we're going with.

02:18:32 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:18:35 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 9:

Megan, the last dirty of the week as you fill in for Shannon. What's going on?

02:18:40 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so we've got some big news. The biggest news of the day, I would say, is Alec Baldwin could be facing five years in prison. Special Prosecutor Andrea Reeb has announced that Alec Baldwin and the Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter for the on-set death of Helena Hutchins for the movie Rust. So that's your quick little update on that. But my personal favorite story of the day has to do with the Black Eyed Peas because they are coming for you. Poopsie Slime Surprise. Yes, it is a toy unicorn that obviously poops slime and they did some advertising. where they parodied this song, My Humps. Their lyrics were a little bit switched up. Instead of, My Humps, they say, My poops, my sparkly glitter poops. And it's a toy? Yes, it's a toy that poops out glitter slime, and now the team behind the Black Eyed Peas suing that company to the tune of $10 million in damages. Do you think they ripped it off?

02:19:37 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 6:

All right, poopsie slime surprise. My poops, my poops, my poops. What you gonna do with all that poop? Oh, yeah. It's a shark. I'm a poop, poop, poop, poop, oh, yeah. I'm gonna get loopy on my poopy My poop, my poop, that's right My poop, my poop, my poop, check it out I drive my parents crazy

02:19:55 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 9:

Oh my God, case closed

02:19:58 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 4:

I'd like to sue them too That hurt my

02:20:00 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 1:

years oh are you kidding me i'm a new customer we'll be playing that on repeat on my way home today kelly clarkson had to get a restraining order to protect her from two guys that just won't leave her alone victor fernandez and huette nicole young both need to stay at least 100 yards away from kelly clarkson for the next five years now fernandez was the one that pulled up to kelly's home on thanksgiving with a semi truck so that he could see over her fences he's She appeared at her home on more than one occasion looking for her. He's even shown up more than 18 times to leave gifts and notes for her. Selena Gomez cleared the air on her relationship status. She shared an Insta story with a photo and writing on it saying, I like being alone too much, along with the hashtag, I am single, which has now been deleted.

02:20:49 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 2:

She's not dating the guy from the Chainsmokers?

02:20:52 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Drew Taggart. No, it seems like even though they went out one time, it doesn't mean that they're actually dating.

02:20:59 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm happy about that because I think she can do better. Yes, I agree. Not that I don't like Drew Taggart or anything like that, but she's Selena Gomez, for goodness sakes, right? You know who Selena Gomez needs to be with? Who? She needs to be with a young actor, like somebody, you know, I don't know, name some young actor.

02:21:16 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. The chain smokers were nice dudes when we met them, but I also feel like this news coming four days after they talked about having threesomes together with fans, I was like, oh, no.

02:21:26 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 2:

Timothee Chalamet? Timothee Chalamet. Oh, a strong power couple. Yeah. How old is Selena Gomez?

02:21:34 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 1:

30. Her and I are like a week apart.

02:21:35 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 2:

Could she be with Harry Styles or not?

02:21:39 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 1:

No. Wow, very protective of Harry, aren't you? I know. I know. Actually, you know why I say that is because she dated Justin Bieber for so long and was absolutely just like torn apart by his fans and told that she wasn't good enough for forever. I don't want her to date another celebrity. Like I want her because I feel like she's on this journey of self-love. We saw that a lot in the documentary that she recently put out. I just want to see her with like a normal guy.

02:22:09 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, just find some nice radio station web designer and social media director. Oh, my gosh. I know.

02:22:18 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 2:

You're saying that. Reese?

02:22:20 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 3:

Reese, did you get with her? I love her like I love something. See, you'll manifest it.

02:22:27 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 2:

How could you road rage that guy? He's so cute.

02:22:31 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 1:

I love Reese so much.

02:22:33 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 2:

It's not funny.

02:22:34 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 1:

So much.

02:22:35 - 02:22:38 | Speaker 2:

I can imagine him in the car, too, and be like, hey, stop. Hey, guys.

02:22:38 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, come on. I don't like how aggressive you're being. Not chill, guys. I have very sad news, Detroiters. Looks like by the fall of 2025, there's going to be no more 313 numbers to dish out. There's going to be a new area code introduced into Metro Detroit. You know what it is?

02:22:59 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 2:

They've done all the numbers. No, it's all the hype of all the sports teams using 313 as their new ways to make. Yeah, it's like, I don't know. Maybe Detroit wants to come up with another thing. You know what?

02:23:12 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 1:

It turns out there's just a lot of people that live here and they're running out.

02:23:15 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 2:

But people are keeping their numbers. Maybe you should not be able to keep your 313 number if you move out of Michigan.

02:23:20 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 1:

No, don't you dare because my dad is so proud of his 313 number. And if you take it from him, he's going to have no street credit, he says. And he's going to be very, very upset.

02:23:30 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm calling up Governor Whitmer or Mayor Duggan. And I'm going to say one way we can keep people from moving to another state. You lose the number. You lose your number. Cough it up.

02:23:39 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm really shocked because in Toledo, we have 419. And that ran out like a while ago, didn't it? Because we have 567 as well. Your new area code to be introduced in Metro Detroit is going to be 679. Now, this actually isn't official yet because they have a meeting that's going to be held in March by the Michigan Public Safety Commission. And that's when it will become official.

02:24:02 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 3:

It's wild because they recycle these numbers so damn fast. It's like two weeks after you cancel a cell phone plan. Somebody else has your number and they're answering your calls.

02:24:11 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 1:

Is this a good sign? More people are moving to Metro Detroit. More people are staying. More people are keeping their numbers.

02:24:17 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

The new area code's a Fetty Wap song. That's awesome.

02:24:19 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 2:

Is that really what it is? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was thinking it should be 369. 679? Wait, hold on. 67. Oh, my God, that is. Mike, good call on that one. Hold on. I'm going to get it for you. Here we go. Somebody has a sense of humor and did that on purpose. Megan, when you were picking out what song I should play, Why would you not have picked that up?

02:24:37 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 1:

I know this is crazy, but I don't know Fetty Wap titles off the top of my head. Like Lady Gaga.

02:24:42 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

So this is the new number area code for the D. I like this song. This is actually a good song. Oh my god, this is the cleanest version of this song I've ever heard.

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 5:

Do they say it?

02:25:08 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 1:

Do they say 679 now? You know what's weird? He's from New Jersey. Actually, both of them are. I think Remy boys are from New Jersey, too. They should have given this area code to New Jersey and given us something cooler.

02:25:26 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 2:

Are you done with this dirty or not? Yeah, but I'm hanging here 679. I don't think they sing it, do they? No, they don't say 6-7-9. Oh, they never say it.

02:25:33 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 5:

Mike, we asked you that twice and you said yes.

02:25:35 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 2:

No, I said no the whole time. Every time I said no.

02:25:37 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 5:

You're asking like a real Mojo and they're half listening here.

02:25:40 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 2:

6-7-9. All right, go ahead. We're going to wrap it up.

02:26:03 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 2:

we're gonna do a phone scam right now if you saw the big news story he is now being charged with involuntary manslaughter alec baldwin uh by that new mexico district attorney many were shocked by that yesterday uh it was all from that uh incident took place on the set of the movie rust where the gun went off and it ended up killing the producer of the movie or the director of the movie spike went back into the archives to find a time when we had alec baldwin help with a phone scam do you want to explain the yeah actual audio that we're using in this one

02:26:43 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 1:

because actually i was talking about this with one of our producers and they didn't even remember this story because they're on the younger side but back in 2007 alec baldwin's voicemail to his daughter went viral and this is before things went viral uh after baldwin divorced actress kim basinger a nasty custody battle started over his daughter ireland and then this tape leaked of him cursing out his 12 year old daughter ireland who's pretty popular now yeah now she's an adult but back then she was a 12 year old and he was a raging idiot to her about you know visiting and custody and stuff and we got a copy of that voicemail and we used it to do a phone scan

02:27:20 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 3:

Home of the world-famous phone scams. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:27:29 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 4:

02:27:34 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I want to tell you something, okay? Hello? This crap you pull on me with this damn phone situation, you have insulted me for the last time.

02:27:47 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay, did you come into the store recently, sir?

02:27:50 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 5:

I want you to know something, okay?

02:27:52 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:27:52 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm tired of playing this game with you. You are a rude, faultless little pig, okay?

02:27:59 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 4:

Sir, you may have dealt with somebody else at the store, but I'm not trying to be rude.

02:28:03 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 5:

I've made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone to call you at a specific time, and you don't even have that damn phone turned on.

02:28:13 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 4:

Sir, we have our phone on here all the time.

02:28:16 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 5:

When the time comes for me to make the phone call, I stop whatever I'm doing, and I go when I make that phone call.

02:28:25 - 02:28:32 | Speaker 4:

I'm here by myself. I would give you to a manager. Is this about a phone you purchased here at our store?

02:28:32 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 5:

You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone. And when I come out there next week, I'm going to fly out there for the day just to straighten you out.

02:28:42 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 4:

Sir, I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe you dealt with somebody else.

02:28:47 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to let you know just how disappointed in you I am and how angry I am with you that you've done this to me again.

02:28:55 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea what you are talking about. You've made me feel like a fool over and over and over again. How did...

02:29:04 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 5:

You've made me feel like... How did I make you feel... I am going to get on a plane, or I'm going to come out there for the day, and I'm going to straighten your ass out. when I see you. Do you understand me? You are a rude, thoughtless little pig, okay? You have insulted me for the last time.

mojo in the morning

02:29:53 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 2:

excited it's like one of my favorite weekends these next few weekends like the football just gets even better you know as we wind down the nfl season and get towards the uh super bowl getting excited for uh for that um chelsea brought up something interesting when she said what do you you know what do you got planned this weekend i said oh i'm just gonna want to watch a lot of football and she says it's not over yet and i said well it's over obviously for any team that you know we like but it's not over in the nfl and she doesn't understand why i still want to watch even though I have no skin in the game. And I don't know, I just love this time of the year. It's like the best. But she brought something up to me that is kind of interesting. She said that I am an a-hole, and she didn't say a-hole, she said the full word, when I'm watching football. She said that there's something that overtakes my body, turning me into a total jerk when i'm watching a football game and she said that if she asked me you know asked me a question or kind of sits down with me and stuff she said i become like this person that's like you know i'm normally not like and she said she likes me so much better when i'm not watching football and she can't wait for football season to be over with and i sat there and i thought about myself that and i go wow i think i am like i think there are times where i I get very short with her or, you know, I become like a jerk while I'm just sitting there getting into a game. And I wanted to ask this question. Is this a common thing where people are doing, they become an a-hole when they're doing something? Like, what is it? Like, because I will say this to you. There are times where Chelsea will cook and she's kind of like short with me. You know what I mean? Like she gets, I think she garners up a lot more confidence when she's in the kitchen cooking.

02:31:52 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:31:52 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 1:

I'll tell you the one time I see my girlfriend get a little unhinged and less than favorable personality traits come out when she's playing Nintendo. Oh, really? And I see her even trying to kick her little son's ass in the game and wipe his nose in it. And she thinks she's building character for that poor kid.

02:32:13 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 2:

She's a competitive player, huh?

02:32:16 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 5:

oh yeah i can tell you what mine is and it drives me nuts because i feel like people think they can get away with it when somebody's reading a book i don't know what it is when you're reading a book nobody thinks they're interrupting you you're watching television shows they wouldn't talk over it but if you're reading a book people just talk to you and then get mad when you don't respond i'll punch you in the throat i'm in the middle of a juicy chapter so people are rude to

02:32:37 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 2:

you when you're reading a book and you become an a-hole yeah because if you start talking to me

02:32:41 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 5:

while I'm reading and then expect a response right away like you got to wait until I finish the paragraph the chapter the sentence what like I'm in the middle of something even though you

02:32:50 - 02:33:41 | Speaker 2:

don't think I am it's justifiable thank you um I want to know what it is that your spouse does that turns them into this person that you just don't even know you why you'd marry them what is it that they're doing like you know when your guy's like washing his his truck or his car or something like that does he become like a like a total jerk or you know if if your girl is uh you know i don't know doing the laundry or something like that laundry makes her angry um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 or text is 95500 um i uh i will say this when i'm watching a football game i think maybe the aggression on the field maybe gets to me you know what i mean i could

02:33:41 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 3:

i could see that especially if you're in a room full i would have to be in a room full of other people that are watching the game to maybe get on that level but for for me it's kind of along with that though it's madden if i'm playing madden my wife will text me from upstairs and be like i can hear you from upstairs shut up because you're yelling at the tv yeah the same with like the video

02:34:04 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 2:

game playing like spike was talking about with his girlfriend yeah my kid turns into like a a very uh you know disruptive person i don't know i was looking for a name he a-hole when he's playing uh playing video games i like this texture i don't know if they're trying to call this one texture but there's a texture that oh here it is lauren lauren i saw your text i started laughing this is when do you turn into an a-hole when i crochet

02:34:31 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's aggressive

02:34:33 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 1:

Now, most people seem to do that to relax To relieve stress What's happening?

02:34:39 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 4:

So, I don't, like, just crochet for, like, fun, necessarily I'm usually making donations for, like, my NICU And the NICU at Sinai Grace, too Oh, nice So, I'm usually, like, trying to get stuff done But he does it right in the middle of, like, when I'm counting And he just keeps talking louder and louder And then I just keep counting louder I don't know.

02:35:00 - 02:35:08 | Speaker 3:

so when you're crocheting you have to concentrate or it's just because of the donations part

02:35:08 - 02:35:19 | Speaker 1:

most of the time I don't have to concentrate too much I usually pick pretty easy patterns but like for Christmas I make Santa hats and those ones I really have to count out to make sure I don't mess it up

02:35:19 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 3:

oh you're counting out to make sure you don't mess up because I always sit there and I think to myself people do that because it's mindless it gets their mind off of things

02:35:28 - 02:35:36 | Speaker 4:

But you've got to really concentrate If you live with this gentleman You've told him plenty of times Don't interrupt, I'm trying to make this

02:35:36 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 3:

Dil, when do you turn into an a-hole?

02:35:39 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 6:

It's my girlfriend Whenever she plays Minecraft

02:35:42 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh

02:35:43 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 6:

I don't know why She's a pretty passive person But when she plays Minecraft, she's cursing at me And gets really bossy and stuff It's crazy

02:35:52 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 4:

And that's not a game you're trying to get top score Exactly

02:35:57 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 3:

Wow Minecraft I've never played Minecraft before Is Minecraft Is it like GTA where you're killing people? No

02:36:09 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 2:

You instigate don't you And you're trying to play the innocent one But is she in the middle of crafting something And you'll destroy her progress Because if so then she is validated with her anger

02:36:18 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 6:

I mean I might borrow some diamonds Yeah you're the jerk You're the jerk

02:36:23 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 3:

Jeremy yes hi when would your girl tell us that you turn into a big old fat a-hole when i'm washing my

02:36:33 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 8:

motorcycle uh it's just it's a time-consuming thing and all the chrome you gotta do and then and then when football shows up she turns out to being a a-hole well there's a solution then you just need watching football you just need to wash your

02:36:52 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 4:

bike while she's watching football then both of you'll be left alone but what could she possibly

02:36:56 - 02:37:19 | Speaker 3:

do to you when it comes to that point but what could she possibly do to you to get you angered you know what i mean like what did she do did she come and turn the hose off or or something about the dogs or you know just leave you want to be left alone abby hi how you doing is this when

02:37:19 - 02:37:31 | Speaker 9:

your guy turns into an a-hole yes what is he doing uh cutting the grass we actually fight over who gets to cut the grass because we both like to do it but when he's actually doing it

02:37:31 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 3:

he's an a-hole really so you guys both enjoy cutting the grass that much that you guys fight

02:37:36 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 9:

over it oh yeah i love cutting it i even you know send him pictures when he's at work if i get to it first and show him my dime oh really rubbing his face where do you guys live because if you live

02:37:48 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 3:

close to my house you're more than you know welcome to cut mine we're in new baltimore yeah a little bit far all right yeah that's wild so you guys ever does that fighting ever

02:38:01 - 02:38:13 | Speaker 9:

turn into you guys not talking to each other uh not usually it's more of like i'm cutting it well no i will do it and i'm like no i'll do it fine i need my steps in anyway wow that'd be amazing

02:38:14 - 02:38:25 | Speaker 3:

No argument from us. Can you teach my sons how to get into cutting grass? What's up, Todd? Hey, how you doing? Good, buddy. We're talking about you turn into an a-hole when you're doing?

02:38:26 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 7:

When you both decide on a movie to watch, and she wants to have a deep conversation about something.

02:38:30 - 02:38:30 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:38:32 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 7:

Like, do you want to watch the movie, or do you want to talk about something? Both. Oh, man. You know? Yeah.

02:38:40 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Todd, you're going to get in trouble for making this phone call today.

02:38:43 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 7:

She don't know

02:38:44 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show So Megan has a bone to pick With Shannon who she is filling in for Who Shannon celebrated her birthday yesterday And she's on a Like a really nice trip She went with her boyfriend Wes To Paris And what is your bone to pick about

02:39:04 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 2:

She seems to like everybody but me And I'm wondering If I should in your opinion Unfollow her possibly even block her on Instagram because I feel very slighted and quite frankly disrespected by one Shannon Murphy because that lady is the respectable child I think right now. That woman, that boss girl decided to post every single happy birthday wish that she was granted on her Instagram from everybody in her life. And I'm not talking just her friends or just her family. Oh, there was a million of them. A million coworkers as well. Weirdly enough, every single one of you who wished her a happy birthday, she reposted, except for mine. Uh-oh. Redemption. Except for mine. Redemption.

02:39:55 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

What's the redemption for, Mike? Because she, Megan.

02:40:00 - 02:40:08 | Speaker 2:

The Meg and Mick never wished me a happy birthday herself. So were you in on it with Shannon? Did you tell her?

02:40:08 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 1:

I was not, but this feels good. So funny. Yesterday, my girlfriend said, wow, poor Shannon. She's just trying to enjoy her vacation and her birthday, but she has the repo. I said, no, she loves that. She's sharing all the wishes she's getting from around the world. And then I said, I wonder why Megan didn't wish her a happy birthday.

02:40:26 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 2:

Did you go through all of them to see? Because I didn't even. I said to Megan. No, I'm joking. I said, Megan, I know you've got to be up there, but then I went through it.

02:40:33 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 1:

No, I just opened Megan's story to see her wish, and I can tell you why she didn't share it. Why? Because you didn't tag her in it, so she can't share it. Oh, so it's your fault. It's your fault. It's your fault. You didn't tag her, so she can't share it to her story.

02:40:49 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 3:

No, I have an invisible tag.

02:40:51 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh, is that what it is? Yeah, I have an invisible tag. Do you?

02:40:53 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Because she reacted to it in our DMs. She reacted and she emojied it and she said, thank you. And she didn't repost it.

02:41:01 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

02:41:03 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 3:

In case you're wondering, you can invisibly tag people on Instagram.

02:41:07 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 2:

Donnie, what did you want to say about Shannon?

02:41:09 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 5:

I was like, did she get proposed to, and is she hiding the engagement ring?

02:41:37 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm so glad that you and I are on the same page.

02:41:39 - 02:41:42 | Speaker 1:

There may have been a discussion in the studio this morning about that.

02:41:42 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 5:

That's so funny. I was going to try to screenshot it and zoom in, but I didn't want to look like that much of a creeper, but I'm invested.

02:41:48 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 2:

So wait, so are we to assume that if she gets proposed to and gets engaged, she won't post it on her? Because I would think she would post it on her.

02:41:58 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 5:

No, she's going to hide her hand or she just might not wear it.

02:42:02 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 1:

She's going to come home and tell her kids first, and then she's going to surprise us on the radio with it.

02:42:09 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 5:

Really? Yeah, you have to watch her hand. She's going to be wearing gloves or something.

02:42:12 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 4:

But Tony, did you see what they were wearing yesterday? That was sexy. That was not casual, fun Paris date.

02:42:19 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 5:

No, and it was in front of the Eiffel Tower. Great background.

02:42:22 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 2:

So, wait. So, this is interesting. This is like a murder mystery. I don't know. Or this is like a, like, I feel like we're trying to read into something. So, do we assume that because they were in front of the Eiffel Tower in beautiful outfits that she got proposed to? Or do you think Wes is waiting for, like, another day and they'll do it?

02:42:43 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I love this love story. So, it's okay. Okay. Yeah.

02:42:46 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 1:

Donnie, I think that I don't think it would happen yesterday because I think he will allow her to celebrate her 40th birthday. No, no, no. I agree. But tonight. Yeah.

02:42:56 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 4:

She was in a backless gown and he was in a tux. Okay, let's do what we do. Let's make a bet.

02:43:02 - 02:43:02 | Unknown:

All right.

02:43:03 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay, let's do it. You are a good listener. Shannon and Gay. So here's the deal. If Shannon, first off, there can be a bunch of these. She's going to be there until I think she flies back on Monday, right? Mm-hmm. So, it could be yesterday was Thursday. So, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Okay, not Monday. She's not going to do it on the flyback. You say, Donnie, what?

02:43:30 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 5:

I say she got proposed to last night on her 40th birthday.

02:43:34 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Who else says that? Me. Megan?

02:43:35 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 5:

I think you're right, Donnie.

02:43:36 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

No. All right, Spike, what do you say?

02:43:38 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 1:

No. It'll happen over the weekend, maybe.

02:43:41 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 2:

So, Friday, Saturday, or do you want to pick one of those?

02:43:43 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 1:

I have further intel. She picked the restaurant last night. Okay. So that's why it didn't happen last night, because I believe he probably did some research on the perfect place to have an engagement.

02:43:53 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 5:

Whoa. But we didn't get all the information.

02:43:55 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, you got it.

02:43:55 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 2:

I didn't get that intel either.

02:43:57 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 5:

Okay, but why?

02:43:58 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 2:

I did say this, though. When I asked her the question of has she visited the jewelry store to go look at rings, she had the gulp voice. She did a boom on the air that day.

02:44:10 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 1:

You have a poor memory because we asked her in a More Mojo podcast, and she admitted that she and Wes had been at a jewelry store looking at, talking about her preference for rings.

02:44:21 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes, we did. And you're also underestimating the fact that on her Insta story, she posted with him, today was the best day. Thank you for making it more than I ever dreamed of.

02:44:32 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 2:

All right, I'm going to say yesterday yes, too. I'm going to put my name on that day yesterday. So, Spike, you got to pick Friday or Saturday, and Mike, I need your pick.

02:44:40 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to, let's see.

02:44:41 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to say Saturday night. Okay, so Spike says Saturday night. He may have more intel because he's very close with Shannon.

02:44:46 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 1:

That's true. That's true. No, I have no additional information than what I just shared with you. I just know you're always wrong. You always lose back. Mike, what do you say then?

02:44:54 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

See, I don't think it's happening this weekend, but if I have to pick a day, I think it's...

02:45:00 - 02:45:01 | Speaker 4:

It's happening Sunday.

02:45:01 - 02:45:03 | Speaker 5:

Sunday, Mike. Yeah.

02:45:03 - 02:45:04 | Speaker 4:

Why do you say it's not going to happen?

02:45:04 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 5:

Why would that be your –

02:45:05 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 4:

Because we're all expecting it.

02:45:06 - 02:45:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay, you could say no. You could say $1. Okay. So you're going to say no? So Mike says no this whole weekend. KP, you want to put one in here? Reese, put one in? I think she's engaged. You think she's engaged? So you think yesterday? I think it was yesterday. Yep. Reese, yesterday. What about you, KP?

02:45:23 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 3:

I also think she got engaged yesterday.

02:45:25 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 5:

All right, KP.

02:45:26 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 1:

She's been wanting to spend her 40th in Paris for 10 years before she even met Wes. She was planning on going herself. So I don't think he would take that moment from her. I think he would allow that magical birthday because now you get to create two magical nights in Paris.

02:45:42 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 6:

No, disagree. If she wanted the most epic 40th romantic birthday in Paris, that's exactly what she got.

02:45:49 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I'm with Megan. No, this is her thing. Spike's right. That's why I say no, it didn't happen at all because this is her thing. She wanted it before Wes. Wes wants to make his own moment in memory with her that isn't this because she was already going to do this. I'm going to be somewhere else.

02:46:05 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to say that Mike may be right on this whole thing. Only because, and Spike too, because Shannon has commented before on the show where she said holiday birthdays or holiday engagements aren't good. She wasn't a fan of them. And I remember her specifically saying that because we all got into, I think it might have been birthday engagements.

02:46:27 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 6:

I do agree with her.

02:46:28 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 5:

Because she said you should have a special day for that.

02:46:29 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 6:

I do agree, but I do think there are also exceptions to every rule.

02:46:33 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Well, Donnie, stay on the phone so I get your phone number so we can call you back. She's coming back. She'll be back live on the show Tuesday, okay?

02:46:41 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 4:

I'll be listening.

02:46:42 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 5:

Don't worry. Yeah, but hang on one second because we're going to get your number so we can call you back so we can receive this bet, which, by the way, there's no dollar amount.

02:46:50 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 6:

I expect a plate of my nachos for lunch.

02:46:54 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 5:

Hold on one second. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

02:46:57 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Now number one for podcasts. Listen to the Mojo in the Morning show on iHeartRadio. And if you want to really have fun, listen to the More Mojo podcast. It's rated R fun with Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Throwback Throwdown.

02:47:18 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Shannon is off this morning, so it's Spike, Mike, and Megan playing. Who will you choose? Barb, first pick in the draft. Who do you choose?

02:47:29 - 02:47:29 | Speaker 2:

Let's go, Megan.

02:47:30 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Barb? You caught her off guard and me. Barb, you got Megan. Next pick in the draft, Spike or Mike, who are you choosing, Stephanie?

02:47:40 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 2:

Spike.

02:47:41 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 5:

You got Spike. All right.

02:47:42 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 2:

Let's do this.

02:47:44 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 5:

And Spike, this is a good one. Or Mike, this is a good one for you. Winston is on the phone. He's back. Winston. Good morning, Mojo. I'm going to go with my main man, Mike. I like it, Winston. Nice to have you on, Winston. All right, guys. So Barb, Stephanie, Winston, let's see what happens here. I'd like to welcome KP, our producer, and she's also the judge of this contest. Hello. Hello. Reese, who's running the controls. Reese, you can nod on the camera there a little bit so everybody can see you. TikTok. We're on TikTok right now. Follow Mojo in the morning on TikTok or go later to it. Go like this. Go, yeah, hi, this is me. And then turn it around and say hello to yourself.

02:48:27 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 1:

Hello, self.

02:48:28 - 02:48:31 | Speaker 5:

There you go. All right. Here we go.

02:48:31 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 2:

Somebody hug that kid.

02:48:33 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 3:

Just give him a big hug. He needs it. Yesterday I saw your snap of you eating popcorn and you took that video of yourself without knowing. That was so funny. You like that? Yeah. That was so funny.

02:48:43 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 5:

All right. Remember, it's first to three. Your name is your buzzer. The first song in the Mojo in the Morning throwback throwdown for this week is Megan, I believe.

02:48:57 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 6:

Psy, Gangnam Style. Correct.

02:48:58 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 5:

Correct.

02:48:59 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 6:

Whoop on Gangnam Style. Gangnam Style. Whoop on Gangnam Style.

02:49:08 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 1:

Whatever happened to you.

02:49:10 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 6:

Gangnam Style. He's still very bad, man. He's like a Madonna.

02:49:13 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 5:

Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown. Megan was giving us a little spike. That was a little spike moment there.

02:49:25 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 4:

Over side.

02:49:27 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 5:

Next song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown. Title and artist, please, is...

02:49:35 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 1:

Like we always do at this time.

02:49:36 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh my God, I can't give you an answer. I got to shine. Let's go your hands up in the sky. Oh Spike

02:49:49 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 5:

I believe Mike

02:49:51 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 4:

Kanye West, T-Pain, Good Life Correct Just got in there

02:50:00 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 1:

All right, KP, score update. We got Megan and Mike with one, Spike, zero.

02:50:23 - 02:50:31 | Speaker 3:

Who's making all the noise there on the phone line? It could be me. I work at a daycare. Oh, the little kitties there? Hello.

02:50:32 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 1:

Wait, Barb. Barb. Have them babies.

02:50:38 - 02:50:39 | Speaker 2:

Who's watching those babies right now?

02:50:42 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 3:

All right. We're going to break this open right now. We're going to get a three-way tie, Spike. You ready for this? Let's do it. Let me get that baby out of there first. All right. Here we go. Break the tie. The next song in the Mojo in the Morning. Throw back. Throw down. is

02:51:00 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 4:

Spike. That is Justin Bieber. What do you mean? Oh my god, did he get it in before the buzzer? He did!

02:51:13 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 2:

He did!

02:51:14 - 02:51:14 | Unknown:

Yeah!

02:51:17 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 1:

I was just

02:51:21 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 4:

thinking, is there a DJ on this with him? Is there a producer?

02:51:28 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, what do we got here, KP?

02:51:33 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 1:

We have a good old-fashioned three-way.

02:51:35 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 2:

I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust. Does that excite you at all or no?

02:51:41 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Would that be the greatest threesome ever? Spike, Mike, and Megan together.

02:51:46 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 4:

It sounds like an absolute nightmare.

02:51:50 - 02:52:00 | Speaker 3:

All right, guys, we're going to break the tie. We're going to find out which one of these guys can do it on this next one. The next song in the Mojo of the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown. is

02:52:00 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 2:

Spike.

02:52:02 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 4:

That is Rihanna, Don't Stop the Music. Correct.

02:52:06 - 02:52:12 | Speaker 2:

Man, how'd you get the title so fast? I had to make sure it wasn't Please Don't Stop the Music.

02:52:15 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 1:

Is she going to do this at the half-time show?

02:52:18 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:52:19 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 4:

She's got bigger songs.

02:52:22 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 1:

Is this like a

02:52:24 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 4:

jump around of all of the hits? I think this is a big song.

02:52:27 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 3:

It's a great song. I hope she does.

02:52:28 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 4:

She's got like 30 hits to squeeze in 17 minutes and 30 seconds.

02:52:35 - 02:52:38 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:52:38 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Good game here from behind. Spike is coming.

02:52:41 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Spike in the lead with two. That kind of three.

02:52:45 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 4:

That's what she said.

02:52:46 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 1:

That's not enough.

02:52:47 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 4:

We're going to make our own Eiffel Tower.

02:52:48 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

Let me say the score. Spike in the lead with two. Megan and Mike with one.

02:52:54 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 3:

All right. Got it in. All right. Got it in.

02:52:56 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 1:

I did not.

02:52:57 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 3:

Got it in.

02:52:58 - 02:53:00 | Speaker 1:

I didn't do that. Shut up.

02:53:00 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 3:

All right. Here we go. The next song in the throwback throwdown can make Spike a winner. That song is Spike. Spike. Spike for the win.

02:53:14 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 4:

That is Bad Romance, Lady Gaga. You just won. Yeah. Sorry. Did you want that to go longer? That's what she said.

02:53:28 - 02:53:42 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations, Stephanie. You have just won the throwback throwdown. We're setting you up with a ticket, Stephanie.

02:53:43 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 2:
