00:03:49 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 7:

Here we go This is the Mojo in the morning show this is the mojo in the morning show this is the mojo in the morning show this is the mojo in the morning show mojo in the morning i want to bring something up here right now so i went out and partied

00:04:17 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 8:

over the weekend got a little bit drunk and i want to ask this question and see if you guys have an answer for me. Can you explain to me why some straight people turn gay when they drink? I got hit on by a married guy this weekend. And I think it was like full on hit on. Like I was like one of those things where I felt like the guy was the guy was really enjoying me. I don't know what the story was. But it only seems to happen to me that I get hit on by straight guys or guys that I thought that were straight, married guys, and it's usually when they're drunk. And somebody needs to explain this to me because I know that

00:05:00 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 6:

there are a lot of women that this happens to where women become by when they have a lot of cocktails. And I want to know what is it about that happening? And I, and maybe I, maybe I'm lending myself to this because maybe I become more feminine or something when I'm, uh, when I'm drinking, I don't know what it is. Like even holding my hand, I'm like, well, what is going on here right now but i i get when i get drunk or i or i'm out i have guys that will hit on me

00:05:31 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 5:

and and explain this to me it's literally just a drinking thing you don't think that they're like

00:05:36 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 6:

on the dl type of guys i don't know okay i have no idea listen i'm flattered by it i actually am very flattered it's it's nice to have somebody actually pay attention to you give me an example because are they acting the same and then you're just drunk so you're beginning up beginning of the night we're not drinking okay or we're not drunk we're just drinking we're all hanging out everything's cool we're high-fiving each other end of the night i'm getting hugged and and groped

00:06:01 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 5:

and stuff and it's you i had a guy friend who was like this i don't want to say his name i have a

00:06:05 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 6:

guy friend he's well and tell me if he does this when he does this at the beginning of the night everything is good at the end of the night he's cupping my private parts i mean no i'm just kidding no does he do that at all wait you just you just nodded your head yes

00:06:20 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 5:

he really the way he talked changed the way he interacted with other guys changed like he call him spirits he would talk to you about like dreams that he's had about other guys and i'm like i i don't know if this is the alcohol spirits maybe this is you and you're just too afraid when you're sober to like be the the guy the man that you are that you yeah you are period wow well i don't know

00:06:49 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 6:

i'm gay now wow i i don't know what uh what it is but it it has happened to me a couple of times over the course of the last few months where i'll go out we'll drink we'll have fun and then at the end of the night i got guys wrapping their arms around me you know what i mean although i will

00:07:05 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 5:

say i feel like girls or maybe i'm just speaking for myself but i feel like girls who like tend to get a little touchy, touchier, feelier if they drink a little bit, you know that's me.

00:07:16 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

I have never once been groped by you. No, I don't grop. But I'm saying I get very, okay.

00:07:22 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 6:

Girls like to kiss.

00:07:23 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 4:

Maybe, no, no.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 6:

Girls make out. They make out when they're...

00:07:26 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

I'm saying I feel like girls are more just like... No, we're lovey. We're touchier. We're more like, we appreciate you. And I also think some of it is, I'll protect you from these creepy dudes at this bar by hanging all over you so they can't.

00:07:36 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 6:

What about the creepy guys that are hitting on their friends? Is this the same?

00:07:41 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 5:

We don't have to worry about them at that point. Is this the same person that's doing this to you?

00:07:45 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 6:

No, it's different. It's totally different. I had one guy one time, we're literally sitting at a bar. This is no joke. We're at a bar. We're sitting there. And every five seconds, he kept grabbing my leg. He would talk to me and he would go, yeah, you know what I'm talking about? And he would grab my leg. And at first when he's like grabbing my, he would grab like right above my kneecap. And after he grabbed me right above my kneecap the first time, I was a little startled. And I was like, oh, okay, well, that kind of feels okay. And then I stop, and next thing I know, the hand's lingering there. Like, it's not slapping me anymore. It's now holding on.

00:08:19 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:08:20 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 6:

And it made me feel weird. Maybe he was just trying to sit up straight. This weekend, it was hugging. It was like hugging and cuddling. And I have been told that I would be a great, you know, gay person's beer. A who? Okay.

00:08:34 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 3:

Bear. A bear. What is that?

00:08:35 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 6:

Like the big, the fat guy in the relationship, the big hairy guy. I'm the bear.

00:08:40 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

We have guys that are just a little overweight.

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:08:44 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, a little bit younger, a little bit less hairy. All right. Can't be trimmed up in that beard.

00:08:48 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 6:

Kev, you could be a bear. I'm going to let you be the do you. I don't know. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Hi, Jessica. How are you?

00:09:03 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good. How are you?

00:09:04 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 6:

Good. Explain this to me. Why is it that when guys drink, even girls, when they drink, all of a sudden they go from being heterosexual to bisexual?

00:09:16 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, my mom always raised me to know that a drunk mind reveals a sober heart. So I believe that people who kind of lean towards that already, it just comes out when they're drunk. I had an ex who was, I thought, completely straight, but when he would get drunk, he would start talking about how hot certain guys were, and he insisted, you know, that he was straight, but I don't know. He started talking about dudes more often when he was drinking, and I think he was in the closet.

00:09:46 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so maybe, so do you think it brings them out of the closet when they're drinking?

00:09:52 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 1:

Could the guy just come out of the closet, please? I think so. I feel like, I mean, I'm 100% scared. If I drink, I will not exhibit any type of gay behavior, but if some people are, they might, you know? That's just the way I feel about it.

00:10:09 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. This text is a great one. 734 goes, it's not gay, it's homosexual.

00:10:15 - 00:10:16 | Unknown:

Okay, I like that.

00:10:16 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 3:

I like that.

00:10:17 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 1:

I like that.

00:10:18 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

This other text is a great one, too. 313 says, Kev's not a bear, he's a cub. That's what Megan was saying.

00:10:25 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 4:

Do you think these guys would take it there if you allowed it to go further? I don't know. Are you comfortable playing the role?

00:10:34 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 3:

I honestly, can I be quite honest with you? Yeah. I wasn't attracted to them. If I was attracted to them, I don't know. Like if it's Tom Brady, you know, maybe I'd take my clothes off for him. I don't know. How committed to this bit are you? I'm not. But it does, it does find, I find it interesting, women do this a lot, and I don't know, Jessica, are you this way? When you're out with your girlfriends, or maybe you have girlfriends that are like this, girls kiss other girls when they're drinking, and they won't do it if they're sober. Like, you don't see a girl start, oh, let's hold on, next thing you know, they're making out at the beginning of the night. It's at the end of the night that that happens, right?

00:11:16 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I've seen it happen. And my friends are like that, but I can't, I just can't do it. I can't bring myself to do it and I have nothing against it, but it is not my thing. And so like, I'm not like that. So I 100% know that it has to be, you have to have some sort of open-mindedness to it that I just don't have.

00:11:34 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think what ends up happening is what you're talking about. You can't bring yourself to it. I think that there's, there's no attraction there. So you don't find yourself wanting to do it. But I do think that the other thing is, if you're so drunk, you're wondering, what did you do at the end of the night? You know what I mean? Like, your inhibitions. Your sexual inhibitions definitely come into play. When you're drinking. Like, no offense.

00:12:00 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 2:

Is that what you're saying?

00:12:00 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

No offense to women who are maybe not incredibly gorgeous, but sometimes I actually find everybody in the bar beautiful.

00:12:09 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, for sure. Drunk goggles are real things.

00:12:11 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I see.

00:12:12 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 4:

Sixes turn to eight.

00:12:13 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 3:

I see girls that are at the bar that at the beginning of the night had no interest at all in. At the end of the night, you know, I'm, you know, like, hey, whatever. You know, one of those type of things. So, all right, well, thank you.

00:12:27 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 4:

You should meet me in the bathroom. You ever had sex in the bathroom at a club?

00:12:31 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

Have you really? Or a restaurant. Restaurants for sure. Club. You've done this, Kev?

00:12:35 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I've had some times in my life.

00:12:37 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Like, where are we talking? What kind of places? What kind of bars?

00:12:41 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 4:

Cosmos on Woodward. You mean Comos? Comos.

00:12:44 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 2:

Or Comos. Yeah, my fault. Comos. Cosmos. He's got their pizza. Yeah.

00:12:49 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 3:

It was good night. Wait a second. Isn't Comos also a gay hang, too?

00:12:54 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yes and no. I didn't know that. It's a gay fave. But they also have great pizza. Even if you're straight, you're allowed to go there. That's a gay place? Oh. I didn't know.

00:13:06 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

I just went for the pizza.

00:13:09 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:13:09 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 4:

And then I took my shirt off

00:13:12 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 3:

No, chill out Textures, by the way, that are texting in All these people don't want to pick up our phone calls Because they said that they're too embarrassed That their friends will hear them right now

00:13:24 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 1:

That cannot be real No, I think it's real

00:13:28 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 4:

Wait, which one?

00:13:30 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 1:

The 313 The guy who says he craves penis On his street

00:13:34 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 3:

Boy used the word Is this 313?

00:13:38 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

You can't read that. Can you?

00:13:41 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 3:

35 years of his life.

00:13:43 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 2:

Maybe you can. You can.

00:13:45 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

I've not acted on it, but I have a major craving, but I'm scared to act on it sometimes because I don't know how it would actually feel. Okay. Go live your life, man. But it's only when he drinks, though. That's the thing. It's only when he drinks that it happens.

00:14:01 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 4:

It comes from somewhere, man. I feel like if you're doing that, you have an emotion that's lying dormant. And the alcohol is just unlocking what's already inside of you. It's not like it's just coming from out of nowhere.

00:14:13 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Somebody just texted in, sexuality is a spectrum, and we're all on it somewhere. And I really do believe that. It is a spectrum. Absolutely. You're not, you know, it's, yeah. You know what? It's not clear cut. Like, I am this or I am this. Like, yes, you are, but I do believe that that sexuality is a spectrum. Like, the girl who's like, I am 100% straight. I mean I would say that same thing But I've also found girls Attractive before So technically I'm not 100% straight Do you know what I mean It's like I don't know

00:14:46 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 3:

But does that not make you straight because you find them attractive Are you going to act upon that attraction

00:14:50 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Right But that's what I'm saying it's a spectrum

00:14:54 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 3:

We got to go because Kev and I are going to Como's We'll be right back

00:14:56 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 2:

They do have the best pizza

00:14:58 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Either new nor...

00:15:00 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 1:

00:15:33 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 3:

My For You page has probably become the most annoying place on TikTok. Is anybody falling into this place on TikTok where your For You page is live, live, ad, live, video with, like, 30 likes, another live, and then finally a video that has, like, hundreds of thousands of likes? Or do I just have the crappiest For You page? It's the worst. I don't know what's going on, but it's driving me nuts. But all of these influencers right now are being paid to promote this one purse. This one Louis Vuitton purse. And I'm not mad at Louis Vuitton. Listen, but this purse was trending when I was in high school. It's like a throwback bag that they're trying to bring back. What is it?

00:16:10 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to look it up. I'm looking it up right now. Look at that. Louis. How do you spell Louis Vuitton? You got Louis. The used wipes bag. Is that what it's called? The used wipes bag? I don't have TikToks. Louis Vuitton purse TikTok. Let me see.

00:16:25 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 3:

The Rose Ballerina or Ballerina. Domini Air Prank. I don't know. Checker joint. They're giving these free to influencers to try to promote on social so that they trend again, so that young kids go out and buy this specific bag. That's ugly.

00:16:40 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 4:

It is the ugliest thing in the entire world.

00:16:44 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 1:

Is it really $2,500?

00:16:46 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sure it is because it's Christmas time and they're trying to get junior high and high schoolers to ask for it for Christmas.

00:16:51 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I just bought it.

00:16:53 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 3:

For me? Thank you. I'm just kidding. I see that they all would have wanted it

00:16:56 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 1:

If I bought it they would have wanted it She would have taken it

00:16:59 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 3:

I feel like there's always these trends And for some reason a lot of the ones that have come out recently I just find to be The ugliest Tackiest things in the entire world And I really hate to say this if you loved it And I'm so sorry But the first example that popped into my head was Ray Dunn That was so popular And I thought it was the ugliest thing In the entire world

00:17:21 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 2:

Well so did everybody else because that's all you get at HomeGoods or tj's as ray done so you're you're right with that right all right so what the topic is what

00:17:30 - 00:18:31 | Speaker 1:

what's the trend that you just or the the big new thing that you did not you know get behind you could not get behind um and there's so many of them you know we're on tiktok today with uh that's how we're getting people to communicate with us you guys probably because we just mentioned this are getting all these right now sent to you i wonder if the algorithm does that it has to right where we're having this conversation and people are probably getting them uh i mean i always hate when we do stuff on the show and i'll go to my instagram or facebook afterwards and i will see ads for what we talked about during the show and i go we are getting spied on uh hello to page hi page how you doing what's happening there by the way i get to see everybody's uh profile pictures And you guys, please, if you're driving, don't worry about going live. Everybody's got great pictures. We have good-looking listeners. Oh, thank you. Yeah, even Tom, the guy we talked to a couple of minutes ago. Guy's a good-looking dude. What's going on, Paige?

00:18:31 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 3:

The one trend I could never get behind is low-rise jeans. Oh, boy.

00:18:36 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Yeah, I'm not. I kind of like those. I don't like this trend now because Chelsea's been doing it, of the big baggy jeans. Because I think that right now, Chelsea is the greatest that she's ever looked in all the years we've been together. And I'm like, I think you're wasting that beautiful body of yours.

00:18:53 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, but they're so comfy.

00:18:54 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 1:

She loves them. What is the thing with the, the jeans now are like big old baggy on the bottoms and stuff like that. Almost like bell bottom.

00:19:02 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 3:

Who cuts? Really wide.

00:19:03 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 1:

Is that what it is?

00:19:03 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 3:

What are they called? Stouts? Wait, what are the... She said stouts. No, no, no. She called you stouts. The part of the fireplace. Oh, stovepipe. Stovepipe. Stovepipe. I was like, style is not right. It's not.

00:19:15 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:19:16 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 3:

Whatever. I hate this job.

00:19:17 - 00:19:29 | Speaker 1:

Did Paige disconnect from us? Yes, she did. Paige, by the way, is just like our callers. They get so tired of just listening to us gab, so they just kind of go. Agree with Paige on, do you like the low-rise jeans or no?

00:19:29 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 4:

No, absolutely not. God, do we remember what happened with all the female celebrities in 2003? No, thank you. I think they were good. Don't bring back ED culture, please.

00:19:38 - 00:19:51 | Speaker 1:

If you got the hips for it, they look amazing. Let's go to some calls here. Uh, Hillary or Hannah, Hannah, what's, what's the trend that you can't get on board with?

00:19:52 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh, Megan.

00:19:53 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

So I don't know if you have seen these, but the stupid Hilara, like pancakes.

00:20:00 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 4:

leggings are you talking about the one with the deep seam of the butt crack no not even those they have like circle seams on each of the cheeks but um they're made for like one specific body and all these other girls are trying them on and they just look oh these are i'm just looking them

00:20:19 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 3:

i also want to know who's going to the gym with their butt cheeks circled in seams they it's literally a big circle let me see this yeah it's like please like i i never want to hear about the juicy couture velour track suits where we were writing juicy on our butts when you circle your

00:20:36 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 2:

butt cheeks yeah absolutely amen thanks hannah what's going on nicole how are you good how are you good nicole's got one i'm sure a lot of people will agree with what's the trend that's way

00:20:48 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 5:

overrated the Stanley Cups Stanley Cups so much better yeah Stanley Cups was the dumbest thing

00:20:57 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 2:

ever that people were fighting over them and they were all going you know these are the greatest cups ever when they weren't the greatest cups and honestly when they first came out they were kind of cool because they seemed like they were cheaper than a Yeti but to be honest they weren't any

00:21:11 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 3:

better than it I just don't understand where we've come in society where we see a on the cheap end $40 mug and go, that's reasonable.

00:21:19 - 00:21:20 | Unknown:

Right, right.

00:21:21 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The knockoff stuff that you can buy were just as good.

00:21:26 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 3:

The Target ones are so good.

00:21:28 - 00:21:29 | Speaker 2:

Rachel, what's up?

00:21:31 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning, guys.

00:21:32 - 00:21:32 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:21:33 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 5:

So, the one I want to say is Vera Bradley Purses.

00:21:37 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 3:

I hang up on her.

00:21:38 - 00:21:39 | Speaker 2:

Why, you love it?

00:21:40 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 3:

Listen, if you're a girl, if you're a millennial girl, you have a pattern, okay? I agree with you. not all patterns are cute but everybody can find a pattern and back in the day mine was the black green yellow and white swirly ones and we all know what i'm talking about it was very very very cute okay i had the duffel bag the backpacks the purses the wallets the lanyards i had them all but only in one print and i will not take your judgment in bullying how dare you i'm here to

00:22:06 - 00:22:19 | Speaker 5:

judge and bully other people no the huge it's like a huge satchel across your body and then the giant side bag with the floral design they are so ugly i Rachel are you ready to judge me

00:22:19 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 3:

when i was in college no no no you can this is embarrassing this is this is how low i stooped in life when i was in college i didn't carry a backpack on campus i carried a vera bradley diaper bag how do i know it was a diaper bag the pockets were lined with plastic so if anything spilled in there you could easily wipe it out let me tell you 10 out of 10 would recommend you can You can throw that bad boy in the washing machine, babes.

00:22:43 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 2:

By the way.

00:22:44 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I bet it had a lot of pockets.

00:22:46 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it did. Diaper bags actually weren't so bad. I used to love diaper bags. I used to love carrying a diaper bag. You always got somebody that would come up to you and talk to you with the diaper bag. All right. And diaper bags, by the way, got way cooler for the kids nowadays. Yeah. Oh, they're backpacks now?

00:22:59 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 5:

They're backpacks are amazing.

00:23:02 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 2:

Last one from Allison, and then I got to get to the dirty. What's up, Allison? What's the trend that you cannot believe?

00:23:07 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys. Morning. I absolutely hate the mesh shoes, the mesh flats, the mesh heels. Who would ever buy those?

00:23:16 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 2:

All right, now it's getting personal. Amazon for the win. Now it's personal. How am I supposed to live, laugh, and love in these conditions? This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. So you have a friend that is not too happy with you, huh?

00:23:35 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure. i had a friend who had an event the this past weekend and we're not this is not like my best friend but we are friends and i didn't attend the event that he had but the next day i called and i didn't wait till the end of the day i waited you know it was like the middle of the day like noon or something i called him told him uh you know i pray for you super excited about your event how did it go and all this stuff we were having a good conversation i could tell him the energy though that he wasn't as excited that i as excited as i thought he would be to tell me about what was going on and he paused and he was like can i be honest with you i'm like yeah yeah like what's what's going on he's like i get it because the reason that i told him is i wanted to stay home with journey and sherelle and that whole thing and he's like i get it but i just feel like it's an excuse like you're trying to use your daughter as an excuse like you couldn't just pop by for a second and then go back home i'm kind of like i kind of understand what you're saying but at the same time i don't believe in my theory as all is like people who don't have kids don't always believe in your kid excuse quote air quotes and uh yeah that's just what it that's just what it is

00:24:43 - 00:25:02 | Speaker 2:

a lot of times a lot of times there are people that uh that don't have kids that will say to you that you're spending too much time with your kids they'll have that but then there are some people that do use their kids as excuses and they won't do things because as they say, I got to, you know, get home to the family and all the rest of that stuff.

00:25:03 - 00:25:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I did notice when I had kids that certain friends kind of fell off. Like, they disappeared. And it sucks, but they just, you know, they just did.

00:25:12 - 00:25:26 | Speaker 4:

To be fair, I know you're looking at it from one perspective. To be the other perspective on this, your priorities have changed. Rightfully so. Yeah. But I'm not a priority in your life anymore. And as somebody who doesn't have kids to be a priority as well, I'm going to find other people that make me a priority.

00:25:27 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:25:27 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 4:

And that's not a bad thing. I agree.

00:25:30 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 3:

I do not think it's a bad thing The only time that I think it turns bad Is when you try to make your friend Feel like they were a bad friend for having a child That's the only time where I'm like I agree

00:25:41 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 2:

He's actually saying to you That when you say That you had to be home with the kids That you could have found A little bit of time to come to his thing

00:25:52 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 3:

You can't just come And I live in West Bloomfield He's downtown Detroit So the event would have been like a 35 minute thing

00:25:58 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 1:

There's no popping in

00:25:59 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 3:

I got a plan to do that. It's going to take me just an hour and travel alone to get there and get back. And the reality is I just wanted to spend time with my daughter. You know what I mean? It's different. You know what I mean? And for some people, their pets are like their kids. And you understand what it's like to just cuddle up with your baby. And that's what it is.

00:26:17 - 00:27:49 | Speaker 2:

And I'm not going to lie to you. I think time of year is bad, too. Because I think when it happens in the wintertime, you don't want to do things. You don't want to go out. You don't want to have to get dressed. Summertime, at least, it's easier to kind of go out and do things. The other thing, too, is it doesn't – it has to do with the event. Like, if somebody says, hey, I got something going on. Can you meet me at B-dubs, you know, on a Saturday? Oh, good. I don't have to get dressed up. If I got to get dressed up for something, like, if I got to wear pants, I don't like to wear pants. You know what I mean? Like, that's why summertime is so easy where if somebody – if a buddy says, hey, we're having, you know, this. like, um, but he was having a golf outing thing and he was like, I, I will not play in golf outings. So don't ever ask me to play in a golf outing because golf outings take 8,000 hours. Like I love golfing, but I hate playing in golf outings cause it's just slow and it's long. It's a whole day. It's like, you've got to, you start at like eight o'clock in the morning and you don't get home until nine or 10 o'clock at night. And so I say, I'll just stop by and I'll say, Hey to you. So what I'll do is I'll stop by. Usually get there for, you know, an hour after they're golfing say hey to everybody maybe have a drink do a you know a silent auction crap or whatever and then get going where if you say like what was this thing is this a big to do fashion thing oh christ a fashion thing yeah he's into does he not know that you have no fashion i mean i'm just kidding i mean i saw you i saw that you were i saw that you were slides to uh To the Jingle Ball.

00:27:50 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 3:

I'm coming crazy. I promise y'all I'm coming so crazy. The guy in sweatpants and slides on. I promise you. Tell you. I'm coming so crazy to the Jingle Ball.

00:28:00 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 2:

I got the comment. You look like we're... We got the comments in our pictures. We look like we're going to run and get errands. All right. Megan, do you feel like any of the members of the show use their kids as excuses to get out of certain things? Or does that ever happen?

00:28:18 - 00:29:26 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so. I try as much as possible not to ask you guys to do anything because why would I hang out with you? I will say I do get frustrated sometimes with my friends that are parents because, and hear me out before you jump to conclusions. I know a lot of the time my friends will bend over backwards so that their husbands can go out and do things and they don't get reciprocated that same treatment. So when I do ask you to do something as a friend, I understand that you can't get a babysitter. I understand that it is a big ask, which is why I don't ask often. I only ask when it's important. And when your significant others can't meet you at the same place you meet them, then I get frustrated because not only is your wife's time not valuable, her friendships aren't valuable as well, which makes me feel even more less than. which again priorities understandably should change when you have kids but it is it hurts it does in a selfish way it hurts i i like to stay connected with my friends of mine and my

00:29:26 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 2:

kids are older so i don't have to worry about this so much i've disowned them already and i like just to invite people to my house and say let's just hang out it's so much easier yeah

00:29:36 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

that's kind of the phase or the stage of life i'm in right now too of like even the lions game last weekend um god it still hurts my heart to talk about that yeah um but even the lions game last weekend like i had my kids and it was so much easier for me to have people over because then i'm like i don't have to like rally them to go somewhere if they start acting crazy

00:30:00 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 2:

or tired or whatever, they can just go upstairs to go to bed. I don't have to leave somewhere,

00:30:03 - 00:30:42 | Speaker 3:

you know, it's so much more convenient. Uh, 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548 Texas 95500. I'd love to hear your perspective on this one about, you know, people who have kids using their kids as their excuse to not have to be friends with you or do things with you that friends should do. Um, and then people who don't have kids, you know, feeling like, Hey, you know, you, you chose the kids over me uh mojo in the morning what's up anisa how are you good how are you good we're talking about how friends get upset at parents or especially new parents because they never hang out with them

00:30:42 - 00:31:19 | Speaker 1:

anymore after they have kids right so i have two under two um and so going out and even like with the kids and stuff like that it's kind of hard because they have specific nap ways so like my daughter right now she only really likes to fall asleep with a bottle and being rocked and not everybody has a rocking chair to at their house to rock my daughter so it's kind of hard going out with them um especially the like family events and stuff like that because like my family will

00:31:19 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 3:

always have us over yeah for like they want to see the kids what are your so your single friends that don't understand this and how old are you by the way say that again you got cut out i'm 23 okay so that see that happened at chelsea night chelsea and i had joe uh our son when chelsea was uh 20 years old and i was 23 just about turned 24 years old and all of our friends had no kids They were dating or they were, you know, hanging out, whatever, partying and stuff. And so it became an issue where you end up finding, like, people. Our friendship base grew so much older, you know, because we started, like, hanging out with, like, 30s, 5s, and 40s and stuff like that.

00:32:04 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 2:

People who are in the same stage. Exactly. Just in different stages of life.

00:32:06 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But I will say this. A lot of our friends loved being around our kids because our kids were kind of cool, and it made for a lot of fun. And they were good birth control for our friends.

00:32:16 - 00:32:37 | Speaker 2:

But I talk about that all the time. I cry about moving to Detroit away from my friends and her kids and missing those things. I get that. I just wish there was a balance. You know, like, I want to be around your kids. I want to go to your space. I want to make things easier. But every once in a while, I want to go get smashed. Go judge people in public. Trust me, so do we.

00:32:39 - 00:32:41 | Speaker 3:

I have to tell you the funniest is, though.

00:32:41 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 2:

Please come get me.

00:32:42 - 00:33:06 | Speaker 3:

The funniest are friends who are not parents come hang over with you and will be vaping right in front of your kids and doing their thing. And you're like, oh, okay, well, if I take that away from them, they may not show up anymore. Guess what? Don't get with your ex's best friend. Get with his dad. Become a stepmom.

00:33:06 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 2:

It's the only morning show in my life. This is Mojo in the Morning. And my best friend.

00:33:12 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 3:

um oh you know what we should do because we just had brendan in the studio with us we were having a conversation about uh this because of uh megan had somebody come up to you that had like a voice at one of your remember that one of your remotes whatever the guy had like amazing voice or they had like a voice for uh for radio like a magical voice yeah should we do that topic with brendan here and like and look for other people with amazing voices yeah i think we should okay so first off get brendan back in the studio and then here's the deal we need to find people that have like magical what should be like big announcer voices or what if it's you just

00:33:55 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 2:

have a really unique voice because or a unique one what if you have like a really like a cartoony

00:34:00 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 3:

voice voice yeah yeah if you have a voice that sounds like you have just sucked on helium but You never suck on helium or anything else. You got to call us up, and we want to hear what you sound like. Brandon, come back in the studio. Where was the – do you see it?

00:34:16 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 2:

I got my eye rolled. Did you see that?

00:34:18 - 00:34:21 | Speaker 3:

Where were you at, Megan, where you encountered –

00:34:21 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 2:

The Cambria Hotel. We saw that.

00:34:22 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 3:

And what happened? The person came up to you, and what did they sound like?

00:34:25 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, they didn't say anything. They were called out by one of their coworkers who was with them, and they said, this guy would be perfect at your job. I said, oh, why do you say that? He will answer the phone and tries to, for as long as possible, get people to think he's a robot, like a voice recording, while he's a live person. But he talks in, like, this, like, perfect voice where it's like, press one for this. Oh, really? And just made it sound very, very funny that he was robot-esque.

00:34:56 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 3:

And did he sound good?

00:34:57 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he sounded great.

00:34:59 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 3:

Zach, do we have... production sounding uh soundy stuff like i wanna like i wonder if we have anything hold on i'm

00:35:05 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 2:

looking let me see by the way while you're looking speaking of that megan i called to make an appointment for a facial the other day and i was like oh this girl's voice is very familiar to me it was me i recorded it like seven years ago for that it's so funny hold on i'm looking at Audio jungle.

00:35:26 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 3:

No, this is audio. This is, hold on. These are like.

00:35:31 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 2:

What is that?

00:35:32 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm looking. These are like movie trailer sounds or something like that. Hold on.

00:35:35 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 2:

Audio jungle.

00:35:36 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to give them any credit for this because actually they'll sue us for using their stuff. I love when people have like the, it's like they could do movie in a world. Yeah. In a world. They always do that.

00:35:48 - 00:35:50 | Speaker 2:

In a world. Baby like Jay has that kind of list.

00:35:50 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. In a world. Brendan, do that. Do it in a world. Yeah, here, Brendan. It's a scary movie, and it's called... Potluck. It's called, yeah, Potluck. The I Heart. In a world where people... All right, ready? Here you go.

00:36:05 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 1:

In a world where people may or may not be cooking their own food and bringing it to the Thanksgiving potluck.

00:36:13 - 00:36:14 | Unknown:

Say more.

00:36:15 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 1:

Kevin is scared because Angel may or may not be bringing dog food. That's good.

00:36:25 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 3:

How many dogs? Angel has like 12 dogs. Doesn't she have 12 dogs? No, she's got big dogs, too. Those dogs could eat you. Bill, are you there?

00:36:36 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 4:

In a world where there's a hot look and no one shows up.

00:36:40 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on a second. Ready? Let's try that. Ready? Here we go. Let's get this out. All right. Go.

00:36:52 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 4:

In a world where there's a potluck at the office and no one's up. Oh, that's good.

00:37:01 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. Can you give us a laugh? Yeah. Like a little laugh in there, too.

00:37:06 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys, how are you?

00:37:08 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 3:

Wade, what do you do for a living? Are you that guy from Columbus, Ohio that was, like, homeless and now is, like, a big famous radio voice?

00:37:14 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hell no, dude.

00:37:18 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 3:

Can you go, it's the bare necessities? I did that for you last time. Oh, you did? Oh, yeah. I'm a one-trick pony. I'm a one-trick pony. Candy man. Absolutely. Can you say mojo in the morning?

00:37:39 - 00:37:41 | Unknown:

Mojo in the morning.

00:37:41 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Bill's got a great. Bill, how big are your balls? Are they just monster? Are they, like, seriously? Can you, like, not even hold one of them in your hand that's so big? Shannon, if you honestly, if you had to guess, what do you think the size of this man's private parts are? Would you think that they would be monstrous?

00:38:09 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 2:

This microphone. The size of that microphone? For sure. That's a good thing, Bill.

00:38:14 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 3:

Bill. Wow. Yeah. All right. Bill. Save Bill. We need Bill to call us more often. Hold on. Oh, Dana from 90 Day Fiance is on the phone with us. What's that? What's going on, Uncle Dana?

00:38:28 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Cousin Dana. Cousin Dana, whatever it is.

00:38:31 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, something like that. Cousin Dana.

00:38:33 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 4:

Right. Something like that. Good morning. Mojo in the morning. I don't know.

00:38:37 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 3:

Your voice is nowhere like Bill's, though.

00:38:39 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 4:

95.5, iHeartRadio.

00:38:41 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. We're going to have a Bill off right now. Hold on. Bill, you're on with me.

00:38:45 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 4:

No, Bill's got me by far.

00:38:47 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 3:

Bill, who's got bigger balls, Bill or Dana? Who's got the better balls?

00:38:56 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 4:

Bigger. If that's the case.

00:38:59 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 3:

If that's the case. Dana already knows he's won that contest. He's got monster ones.

00:39:06 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 4:

All right.

00:39:08 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 3:

By the way, are there any women, though, that have, like, because I do know this. I do know that there are women that don't have, like, you know, maybe crazy deep voices. But if you're a woman and your voice has kind of got a little bit of bass to it, I bet you that would be kind of a cool thing. Shannon, at times, people, when Shannon, when she first started on the radio, people were like, who's the dude on the air with you guys? And I was like.

00:39:32 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 2:

I maintain in second grade, Jake Krause made fun of me and he asked me on the playground, why do you sound like a boy? And you can say.

00:39:40 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 3:

Now he masturbates looking at your pictures.

00:39:42 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 2:

but seriously like i did i always had a really really deep voice when i was little and so it like my voice didn't fit you understand though that every guy that made fun

00:39:53 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

of a girl growing up wanted to have sex with them when they were a kid that was that was the his little thing probably

00:40:00 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 7:

second grade well maybe not in second grade but what's going on noah how you doing hey how's it going good buddy what's happening we're uh we're talking we got brendan here in the studio uh who's got the big say hi brendan we got like a deep voice holy crap that's unbelievable the the reverberation there just like got my ear a little tingly what's yeah i know someone's gonna top bill but yeah what's what's happening noah oh your ear got away oh nothing uh just hearing all the deep

00:40:29 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 6:

voices and it's i'm uh i'm a big fan of uh dnd and stuff like that so i do a lot of weird voices and whatnot so okay i can make mine get pretty long dungeons and dragons oh i thought that's a sexual thing yeah oh yeah kind of it so i got a i got a wide repertoire that i like to put out you know i can give you a like i can give you a story oh let's do it let's try it go ahead here

00:40:52 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 4:

here we go let's uh get right in all right so i'll go back through in a world in a dark world surrounded by humans the world needs to be saved by one man kevin

00:41:11 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 3:

you said you could do multiple voices let's hear another one let's hear another voice

00:41:15 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 5:

okay i'll go on the other end of the spectrum that was a deep i can hit you with a little bit

00:41:19 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 7:

i can i can go a little bit higher wow that's actually pretty good man that's talent even i

00:41:28 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 3:

can't do that yeah how high can you go i mean that's about as high as i can go no brendan how

00:41:35 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 2:

what about you brendan i don't know i gotta be singing i can hit the falsetto in a song but like i don't know if i can do it right now i need some music or something

00:41:44 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 7:

All right, hold on.

00:41:46 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Put an Ariana Grande song on.

00:41:48 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 7:

Is there a song that you know, Brendan?

00:41:53 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I don't know. I mean, Chaperone and all that sort of stuff. I can get those high notes.

00:41:57 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 7:

All right, hold on a second. Here we go. Here we go. Megan, what's a Chaperone song? Hot to go?

00:42:02 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, I mean, I know. I don't know if that has enough falsetto in it, though.

00:42:05 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 7:

It's not enough. Good luck, babe. Good luck, babe. Good luck, babe. All right, hold on a second. Good luck, babe. Here we go.

00:42:12 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't know the lyrics, so this will be interesting.

00:42:14 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, sorry, I don't know the lyrics, so.

00:42:30 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 7:

Here, I'll get to the hook. Should I get to the hook? You know the hook? Somewhat.

00:42:37 - 00:42:41 | Speaker 5:

All right, here we go. Here we go.

00:42:44 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Jesus. Dude, I told you I don't have a lyrics.

00:42:47 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 7:

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Come on. Megan, you do it then. Go ahead. This is not.

00:42:52 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 5:

I want to be the one that I want, baby. You could kiss a hundred boys and boys and you could be the one to deserve the feeling.

00:43:03 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 7:

Wow, that's good.

00:43:05 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 5:

Come on, Brendan. This is my least favorite song by her. Okay, here we go. So good luck, babe.

00:43:12 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 3:

He's not good.

00:43:13 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 5:

Good luck, babe. Oh, my God.

00:43:14 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 3:

Good luck, Danny. Good luck. This is not heavy metal. All right. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

00:43:33 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning show. KP felt her up in public, and she didn't even know her. Did you not even know this person?

00:43:41 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, I didn't feel her up, but no, I had just met her. It was first time meeting Dutch, I guess. First time, long time. Yes. Yes. I mean, so here's what happened. I went to a lion's tailgate, and I went with someone that we are close with on the show, Josh, who does our videos. Oh, yeah. Shut up, Josh. Yeah. We were tailgating, and he had introduced me to this lovely couple, and we spent the whole evening together. We were walking around. we got to the point where we were having shots downtown before the game and um it got to the point where i don't know how this conversation started but she told me that her her boobs were real or i said are your boobs real and she said no they're fake but they look real they're like that those are so real looking they're lovely that's that's how many shots we had we were talking very openly about her boob job this is a complete stranger who i am now friends with and she uh goes would you like to feel them and uh i have never touched fake boobs i i have never touched boobs other than my own so i'm like hell yeah i'll touch your fake boobs i'd love to see how real they feel and i really should have thought about this before i did it because she opens up the bottom of her

00:45:00 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 2:

top to let me go underneath wow and like she doesn't show the whole bar she just opens the bottom so that i can slip my hands underneath and i i touch her boobs and i look over because i'm like wow i'm like i'm shocked i look over directly into josh's eyes and at that moment i realized i should not have one probably not have felt her up in public and two i shouldn't have looked directly into a man's eyes while touching another woman's breast wait i like you'll take all boobies

00:45:34 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 1:

i like boobies is that is there something to that letting another woman feel your your yeah what why is it that women who get uh get boobs always will do that they will they'll say hey

00:45:49 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 2:

you want to feel them because they're proud it's a big procedure and if they you know there are a of boob catastrophes if it looks good that's that's a pat on the back for you but that that

00:45:59 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 1:

happened one of our uh old co-workers uh sisters got boobs and came in the studio and was like you want to feel the boobs i'm like i'm not going to feel your boobs i don't even know you how am i

00:46:08 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 2:

going to feel your boobs she asked a man to feel her boobs she said you want to feel them like that

00:46:14 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 1:

was her thing yeah back in the day i remember that and it was the wildest thing is they all women who get fake boobs like to show you their boobs too like they like to hair do you want to see it like her that girl could let you feel over the top she let you go under this yeah that was

00:46:28 - 00:46:39 | Speaker 5:

crazy that was crazy but you know in not a weird way i'm fascinated like if somebody had a boob job i want to see how good or bad it is and how good or bad it feels does it feel like normal

00:46:39 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 2:

boobs or does it feel like fake boobs yeah i think a lot of times too they're very expensive so you

00:46:46 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 4:

kind of want to get your money's worth and show them off to the ladies and also i feel like every time somebody starts talking about plastic surgery in a friend group everybody talks about what they've had done and like do you want to see i liked my doctor don't go to this guy or have you heard about so-and-so and then you show them up like look at my belly button yeah it's like crazy

00:47:05 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 1:

yeah by the way um lions fans are the greatest fans ever the fact that you can actually get a lions fan at a tailgate to just go want to feel my boobs we were in the middle of the bar like

00:47:16 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 2:

everybody probably saw and but i just felt bad for josh because it's like now like he's standing next to us watching two girls touch boobs i don't think i just felt like oh i probably put him in a really awkward situation i shouldn't have done that are you kidding he was probably the best afternoon of his life he's like kp you want to come to the next one that's the worst part it's like i wonder if he got the wrong impression you know yeah oh yeah i mean probably

00:47:40 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 1:

great thank you well i'm texting right now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 anybody that has ever gotten a boob job before have you ever let like strangers just touch your boobs because that's that must be a thing that happens to you you're so proud of getting them done that you want to either show them or let them let just random people touch them but also like i made the

00:48:04 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 2:

situation sexy and i didn't even intend it to be that way like i it was only supposed to be like what does this feel like and it turned into like uh where's the music you know or it's like this is

00:48:17 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 1:

not what it looks like in this situation did feeling them make you think that you would ever

00:48:23 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 2:

want to get a boob job one day uh no just because i don't think i could handle like the post op and I don't I don't even think I have enough time off to get a boob job how do you even ask Tony I gotta I gotta take time off you need to cover I did recently I can't wait for boobs I totally did

00:48:40 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 4:

he was like why do you need time off I was like fixing my boobs no I don't think I would get a

00:48:46 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 2:

boob job but I am still curious is do do they actually feel like real boobs or do they feel

00:48:51 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

like what they look like implants do do other uh procedures like if somebody gets either their tummy tuck or they get a facelift or they get a nose job do you let people like see them or call them out i think boobs are really i think i thought boobs would be the only surgery that you would tell people you got the rest of them you want to make people think is natural ever since i have opened

00:49:13 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 4:

up about wanting to get a tummy tuck and breast reconstruction i could not believe how many people started sending me and they asked first which i'm grateful for started sending me pictures of their scars their doctors their recovery pictures stuff like that to give me like a a general idea of what i was in for which i really appreciated yeah um those are big surgeries yeah what's up alissa

00:49:38 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 3:

it's mojo in the morning hi guys um so my aunt got a boob job and she actually um she flashed our whole family on easter oh just to show everybody Showed everybody her Easter eggs Why not Good Friday

00:49:54 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

At what point of Easter was she flashing you Like was it where you guys were

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 6:

thing even happened we didn't eat Jesus ain't the only thing there isn't

00:50:05 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 4:

you're going to hell and I will meet you at the gates

00:50:14 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 5:

a texter here doesn't want to go on the air with a 734 says it's obnoxious when my wife does this after her boob job she shows all kinds of strangers her boobs that that would be something interesting that uh you would have to deal with i guess if you were the spouse or the friends of

00:50:36 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 3:

these people well her her husband was right next to her when she did this like he looked i looked over at him and he was he was proud like he was smiling from ear to ear i bought those i bought those like those are fantastic do you see yes i agree like or maybe she bought them for herself No, I think they split it. I asked, like, how did you do that? Did you, like, finance this?

00:50:58 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 6:

You get the left, now I get the right. One, two, and the divorce, you have to get that one back.

00:51:02 - 00:51:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

00:51:03 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 6:

That's coming with me.

00:51:04 - 00:51:05 | Unknown:

What's up?

00:51:06 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 5:

Stella, how you doing?

00:51:07 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

00:51:09 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 5:

Good. Some stranger let KP fill her up. What's up?

00:51:13 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, I had a double mastectomy for breast cancer, so now I have boobs. Boobs? Boobs. it's amazing how many people want to touch them or see them because i don't have any breast tissue i just have the implants so it's uh yeah did you learning experience

00:51:31 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 3:

did you get the the nipple uh tattooed on um i have an appointment in february for that i'm so

00:51:38 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 1:

i've met a woman who does that for a living and it's it is honestly amazing what they can do

00:51:43 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 2:

so they look so real yes actually pierce them yeah and i think you're into that i've seen it

00:51:51 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 3:

in real life too wow i guess i've seen a lot more boobs uh i when i worked at a gym one of the uh coaches had uh breast cancer had her her boobs removed and she got tattooed nipples on her implants and they looked incredible like she showed the entire staff and all the everybody

00:52:07 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 2:

in the workout we have a guy at work that has a nipple tattooed on his leg and everybody's like What the crap? And he's like, well, they have to practice on something. Wow.

00:52:17 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 5:

Thanks for the call, Stella. We're happy that you're great. What's up, Avery? Oh, I'm sorry. We just hit one.

00:52:24 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 1:

One of my old co-workers would go to, got fake boobs or whatever. So she would, like, show all of the girls that I worked with her fake boobs. So they would all go to, like, the bathroom together while they were working and, like, have, like, a show and tell.

00:52:39 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 5:

Did you ever think about doing this with the guys and show your wieners to them?

00:52:43 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, all the time.

00:52:45 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 4:

We do that around here, Kevin. No, we don't. That's on the days I'm off. Come on, Kevin.

00:52:53 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 6:

You're not seeing my week. Kevin is literally Googling boobs. I didn't know you could tattoo nipples. And they don't just come like your everyday nipples. They got like carnival nipples and star nipples. You can get them in any shape you want. I think it's so fun. Here's a heart nipple. Look at that. That's a heart nipple.

00:53:10 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

thanks for listening to us and not your better judgment this is mojo in the morning uh you know how they say no good deed goes unpunished yes it went punished today what happened ah i was trying to like do dishes from you know last night and other stuff that was in the sink just so that chelsea could wake up this morning and think that i am the greatest husband in the world so i was doing those i ended up and this is by the way as the warm-up show is beginning so i usually am out of the house by like once the warm-up show starts so five o'clock you know boom warm-up show's on i'm out i uh dropped the glass literally one of the biggest glasses that we've ever had in our house is a glass glass like it goes all over the place and i'm like son of a bitch and now i got to figure out where a vacuum is where a broom is all this stuff because i don't know if you know this i may be the greatest husband in the world But I don't think I've ever grabbed the vacuum or the broom at five o'clock in the morning. And so I have to crank that thing up, you know, turn it on. Chelsea comes around and what's going on? She doesn't think a burglar. Actually, she probably did think a burglar is in the house. She's like, there's no way that he's cleaning. A burglar must be in the house to clean. That's the kind of burglar I want. I'll marry that burglar. Yeah, exactly. So so I cut myself. I got, you know, usually guys cut themselves like from shaving and stuff. I got a glass. Yeah. A shard. Well, I didn't even realize. And I have a totally different outfit on that I was wearing because I'm cleaning. I'm trying to get it all done because I'm trying to get out of the house like in a couple minutes. And then I'm doing this thing on the floor. I'm looking on the floor going, is there a piece? Yeah. I don't want the dogs to step on it. Yeah. I'm like freaking out. He didn't care about the dogs. No. I was caring about my dog. You know, I was caring because this dog ain't going to get anything from that dog.

00:55:00 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 3:

any kind of stuff if she ends up cutting her foot I was worried about the dogs seriously but you know you do the whole thing and then you go into the bathroom and I'm like alright I'm sweating profusely I'm like alright whatever and I look blood all over so I got a shirt full of blood it's crazy I'm a hero by the way

00:55:20 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 1:

and don't you feel bad sleeping when there are people you're a hero when there are people sleeping in your house and you're getting ready at 4 in the morning and something like that happens and you have to break out the vacuum

00:55:27 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 3:

it's the worst I've never had that happen to me before Like I never have

00:55:31 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 1:

I had to turn the garbage disposal on This morning Crap I'm sorry but like I have to Or else it's gonna smell

00:55:40 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 3:

It's bad and then I've done that Before I turn the garbage disposal on and then I've gotten The can you not Turn the garbage disposal on I'm not doing it because I want to You know what I mean I've had the opposite happen

00:55:53 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 4:

Like where Sherelle been mad at me before and she used to pay attention and try to walk softly. You can tell when you're in a doghouse, door starts slamming a little louder. Lights get flicked on. Like, come on, man. You've never done this before. We're not going to let you sleep. You know, like, sometimes you'll lose something or you'll try to find something early in the morning. Yeah. And to prevent having to wake people up, you won't cut the light on, so you use your phone light? Yes. That's when you know they're pissed. That's what I do. When they're not using phone lights. They're just cutting on all the room lights.

00:56:22 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 3:

They're turning it on. Oh, by the way, is that, that is something that is a very female thing like i don't see guys do that what are you talking about i'm megan i'm i know guys i don't know if you know this but i don't know guy i don't know many guys that they get pissed off at their girl and they because you know why we want to get out

00:56:43 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 4:

of the house unscathed facts and i'm not trying to engage in whatever type of rage you're experiencing right now the way our bedroom is set up there's like a closet and then there's like the bathroom So to prevent cutting on the light that's nearest to the closet, I'll cut on the bathroom light and almost close the door so I can only allow just the light that I need to pick my clothes so I won't wake anybody up and piss anybody up.

00:57:07 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 1:

The struggle.

00:57:09 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 3:

That actually is kind of an interesting topic. How do you know when your spouse is pissed? You know when they're pissed, when they wake you up with all the noise and loud stuff in the morning. Throwing, yeah, banging cabinets, boom, boom, boom.

00:57:24 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 4:

What's going on right now?

00:57:26 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask an honest question? When you are pissed off, don't you seem to walk a little harder on your feet? Like you.

00:57:35 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 1:

That's so funny that we're even having this conversation. Wes and I got into a little argument yesterday, and he's like, oh, here comes the elephant walk. Because I do. I stop my feet so bad. I'm perfect.

00:57:47 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 3:

yeah 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to know from our listeners this morning first off like what is it that what's your thing to try to not wake up the house because if you're up right now listening to us more than likely you're a person that you know has to do like i always thought that i could never be in the military because i'm just not physically fit until four o'clock in the

00:58:13 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 4:

morning when i wake up and i'm like covertly on the floor you know what i mean yeah it's impossible

00:58:18 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 3:

to go through the red light dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun do you are you really quiet for i mean you don't want to wake up the kids obviously right but are you really so hard with west because

00:58:29 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 1:

our bathroom is like i walk into my bathroom and it's right on the side of the bed where he sleeps and so if i have to like blow dry my hair or there's no getting past that yeah you know what

00:58:40 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 3:

I mean wait you blow dry your hair in the morning yes please tell me Megan you don't do this you

00:58:46 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 2:

live in an apartment where there's people probably trying to well I don't normally blow dry my hair in the morning I would never get up a minute earlier than I have to I am a shower girl oh well no because even then I was like sometimes I shower in the morning if I sleep in fake tan but I'm not washing my hair I'm wearing a shower cap but I but I also live alone so like I'm not

00:59:06 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 1:

bothering anybody yeah i sweat really bad when i sleep um welcome to your early 40s um and all that comes with it and so i i usually four out of the five days of the week i shower in the morning and i have to wash my hair because it's wet it's sweaty what about kp kp you live in an apartment

00:59:23 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 3:

please tell me for the sake of your uh you know neighbors you're not turning on the freaking blow dryer this early in the morning while you're getting ready to go to uh to work are you

00:59:34 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 4:

She's taking a crap.

00:59:35 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 3:

She's taking a crap. Hold on. Are you serious?

00:59:38 - 00:59:41 | Speaker 4:

Lydia, you are crazy. You could have said she just wasn't here right now.

00:59:41 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 3:

Or you could have said she's blow-drying her hair.

00:59:45 - 00:59:53 | Speaker 2:

But, like, we also don't hear our neighbors at most apartments. Like, you don't hear your neighbor's television, so my blow-dryer isn't going to bother you.

00:59:53 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you don't think that your neighbors can hear you?

00:59:56 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:59:57 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

You don't hear them at all? Never. Not at all.

01:00:00 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 5:

The blow dryer is actually not super, I mean, it's still a blow dryer, but it's not like they used to be. The only thing I hear ever in my apartment, ever, ever, ever, is the stomping of the person above me at night.

01:00:10 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 4:

That's it?

01:00:10 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 5:

That's it.

01:00:11 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 4:

Because I'm going to say this to you, you live in, that's it, you live in a Detroit downtown apartment that was built probably in 1920 or something like that, so that's a good one. The newer ones probably are not like that. KP, you don't blow dry in the morning before work, do you?

01:00:23 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 1:

No, but I did hear Lydia spreading rumors about me, I was not taking a crap. I was just going number one.

01:00:32 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 2:

Anyway, no, I don't blow dry my hair in the morning. I don't think my roommates are not even roommates. What is it called? Neighbors? Neighbors, yeah. I don't think anybody can hear me. I'm like strangers on the other side of the wall. I don't know. I don't think they can hear me. I can't hear them.

01:00:50 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 4:

It's amazing you guys can't hear them because I swear to you, when I live in an apartment, that's all I did was hear my neighbors.

01:00:55 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 5:

When was the last time you lived in an apartment?

01:00:57 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, first off, I stay with Joe in Tampa and his place. All I do is hear the lady above. I mean, that lady is like, first off, she's like banging herself or something up there. It's like craziness. Christina, what's going on?

01:01:12 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

01:01:13 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's happening?

01:01:16 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I was just calling in about my towel when I'm pissed off. So I do like a version of the silent treatment where I huff and puff loudly just so my presence is known, I think. Like I just walk around the house.

01:01:27 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 4:

So just a lot of heavy breathing, huh?

01:01:30 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think I just want him to know I'm there and be reminded I'm mad without having to talk to him or something. I don't know.

01:01:35 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 4:

By the way, when you do it and they don't know it, do you do it extra loud then the next time?

01:01:42 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think I escalate as I go.

01:01:44 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay, yeah. That is a thing. Do you do the elephant walk like Wes says that Shannon does?

01:01:50 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 6:

Not intentionally, but probably.

01:01:52 - 01:01:52 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:01:53 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 4:

That is, by the way, that is a very, because I don't think guys do that. I'm telling you, I don't think guys do any of this stuff, not because we're better people. We don't want fights. Us guys, we try to avoid them. We try to avoid any kind of confrontation that we possibly can ever get ourselves into.

01:02:09 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 3:

And if I see you breathing hard on purpose, I'm going to type A-Hole and be like, are you okay? Would you like mine, Haley? You seem to be a little out of breath. Did your guy ever do that to you?

01:02:19 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:02:20 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 4:

Hopefully he's not listening to the show

01:02:22 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 6:

Which is why we've been married For 15 years Thank you

01:02:26 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 4:

Hey by the way When you wake up early in the morning And he's laying in bed And you have to blow dry your hair Do you wake his ass up with the blow dryer

01:02:36 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 6:

I don't blow dry my hair But he does joke around That he's like a ninja in the morning And he swears that I just walk around Slamming things and turning lights on But I really don't

01:02:45 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 4:

He's the perfect husband That's, hence, 15 years of marriage, right?

01:02:51 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:02:52 - 01:03:10 | Speaker 4:

All right, take care of yourself. Have a good one. Have a great day. All right, we'll see you. I want to go to Megan and KP's apartments, because I guarantee you, if I walked around and said, hi, have you ever heard 1425, they would all go, that loud bitch. I'm telling you. That loud bitch with a gray arm.

01:03:10 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 5:

that's so funny because i uh listen to music on my headphones in my apartment so i don't cause any noise really i'm probably out of all of you the most considerate neighbor although all of you are rude a-holes for no reason i'm sure they hit me in my apartment so it's fine your chance to win

01:03:33 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 4:

a trip to florida right now a trip to miami get out of this cold weather and get ready for the sunshine 844 mojo live that's 844-665-6548 95th caller win a 50 cash card and you could be going to florida with visit florida all right it's mojo in the morning uh this is uh going to be a big topic here right now this is going to be a big conversation uh and i did not know he was going to come in and do this. This morning during our pre-show meeting, one of the slots open for a conversation here on the show was for Kev. And when we go around the room and all talk about things that are going on in our lives, Kev said that he was ready to have a conversation, a real conversation with the listeners that I think some people kind of started already figuring out. And you already told us that you've been kind of struggling and going through some tough things in your personal life but i'm gonna give you the floor yeah i mean new studio

01:04:35 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 3:

new vibes uh sherelle and i are no longer together we are no longer in a relationship and uh we haven't been in a relationship for a considerable amount of time maybe since june or july of this year so about five or six months it has been extremely difficult um and obviously life-changing but uh i'm at a point now where it needs to be communicated it needs to

01:05:00 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 4:

be said and uh i still love sherelle obviously i love jern but at this moment um a future is

01:05:07 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 3:

not something that i'm interested in having what uh can i ask you and what can i not ask you because

01:05:13 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 4:

i know the whole story yeah well i mean what's going on well i mean ask what you want and i'm gonna be honest and then if i don't want to answer it i'll tell you are you doing okay yeah i think um i think you know some days are the sun is shining brighter than others um but i think consistently i've felt better lately and when i say lately i mean over the course of two months okay how is sherelle doing sherelle is you know i would say the same uh we had a beautiful discussion last night because i told her that i was thinking about bringing this to the air and wanted to make sure that she was comfortable with it yeah i didn't want her to be surprised and we have amazing listeners and people in our family who listen to the show and i didn't want to come and have a conversation and she'd be blindsided by it. So outside of us discussing that portion, we did a check-in because we still live together, bro.

01:06:01 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 1:

That was my question. I know Mojo knows the whole story. I don't know the whole story. But that was one of my questions was, and even when you just said since June, I was like, oh, my gosh. Yeah, it's been a while, bro.

01:06:14 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 4:

It's been a while just holding it in, pause, and having to live with it. And I was talking to Colleen. And Colleen was, like, doing a check. And, like, how are you? I'm like, dog, I got some real-life spit going on. Yeah. And, you know, it's obviously, like, you called the boss dog. My bad. We share octopus together. We locked in.

01:06:36 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 3:

Kev, I love you. I love Sherelle. Yeah, I do, too. I'm sad to see you guys going through this. But it is, you know, real. And I knew something was coming. because you told your your buddies your guy friends yeah you told us on the air about that and you had kind of been holding out because i had asked you for a while i i feel honored that you and cherelle respect chelsea and i so much that you guys have shared with us you know that your struggles when you guys were going through some struggles but um i also honestly felt so bad for you that you on the radio it's tough for us to to to do our show and try to play like

01:07:21 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 1:

everything's great and i know that you haven't been great i commend you because i i mean from personal experience it's incredibly hard and i feel like you and i know you're gonna disagree with me but i feel like you have been kev the kev that we all know and you've brought the positivity to this show the entire time and that's so so hard to do when something's going on behind

01:07:44 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 4:

yeah i appreciate that i um it has been a battle it's been a struggle but i'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and i don't just apply that when the sun is shining like when it's storming also everything is happening for a reason and we're so blessed in many other areas of our life where i get to wake up i get to have an incredible job i get to have you know children and family and the whole thing that i can't just focus on the one thing that can be quote unquote to blemish and allow it to tell the full story like you made a point going through something like this isn't a destination this isn't the end I'm passing through something there would be bumps and roads on the journey yeah um so to speak but I love Sherelle like I said and um you know it's just at a point where when you don't protect your relationship there can be holes in it and I don't think we did a great job stewarding stewarding our relationship throughout the course of it and when you ignore certain things and either discount it or put it to the side or don't appropriately give it the moment and the time that it deserves the attention that it deserves those things can grow those things can build and what you once ignored can literally be the thing

01:08:56 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 3:

that kills you for those that are just tuning in right now kev uh just shared with us that uh he and Sherelle, um, have, uh, broken up. Yeah. You guys are friendly with each other.

01:09:10 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Um, and that's it. That's it. Some time too. It was a period where I didn't want to look at her. It was a period where she was, you know, super angry and nasty with me. And we talked a little bit about that last night as well, but you have to give yourself time and you have to give yourself the ability to go through the thing and not try to fake like it's okay. Like, and that's the thing for me especially like growing up in the church like easter i feel like sometimes we we bypass good friday and we'd be like oh he resurrected but like we forget like he died for a while and like there had to be turmoil there had to be confusion like people who believed were you know they had to have those thoughts and those feelings and i feel like sometimes we get so caught up in the it'll be okay it's okay that that is how i've played out certain moments in my life where i've skipped over feeling the pain feeling the hurt and i've just immediately went through I'm going to be a- okay it'll be it'll be fine so i've given myself the opportunity to feel grief to feel pain to give up a future that i thought was mine you know i'm saying like we talking on the radio i'm at lucido's like yeah picking out a ring bro like sherelle is in there with it on her finger like i'm at the point where like the money about to get put down yeah and then that's when we started to have you know conversations and god bless sherelle that she's the type of person that she is the honest woman that she is the stand-up woman that she is and it's not a bad sherelle situation and i want to be so cognizant of that because obviously i'm the one with the microphone so she can't tell her story and i do not want it to come off as though she this and she that she is an amazing woman a great professional a phenomenal mother and i love sherelle but at this moment you know it can't

01:10:43 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 3:

be us how about the uh the kids how did uh josiah and how i mean journey i know just celebrated her

01:10:49 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 4:

first birthday yeah i mean journey don't know what's going on you know what i'm saying like jern still jern still love jern she um sure i said it last night like she'd be getting mad because obviously jern well not obviously but jern is still sleeping in the bed and for a while i wasn't sleeping in the bed but i'm back now because i paid for it and another bed was hurting my back wait you guys wait no no no stop for a second stop you got to stop before you talk about

01:11:10 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 3:

the kids for a second so i want to go back to that yeah you guys are split up but yet you're

01:11:14 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 4:

still sleeping in the same bed listen i told her this last time i'm paying for the bed bro and we had a journey room is so crazy journey never slept in her room but i have the bed was nice but after a while it's like my back going too crazy right now i need to get back in the bed

01:11:28 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 2:

you're also acting like you don't sleep with people that you're actively fighting with all of the time

01:11:32 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 4:

so what about josiah because obviously he's he's old enough to be very aware yeah it's um it's difficult but i think what i am very proud of myself of doing throughout the course of his life is being very open being very honest and not wanting to hide what's happening in my life with him and i think when you set that type of habit when you set that type of precedent when a huge you know breaking news alert comes in he's not you know super overwhelmed by it because we have that relationship now yes he's hurt um because again this was a woman that i was gonna marry yeah we are planning our future and our life and all of that so it's gonna be his stepmom yeah for sure man she does use bonus mom i know you don't like that but she does uh george uh wants to comment and there's a lot of people that do and there's a lot of people

01:12:31 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 3:

that um you know listen here's the thing people also gonna and this is something that's gonna come over time. You're going to have people speculating and doing stuff. Please don't speculate anything. Because I will say this to you, whatever is the reason why these guys are doing this, I truly believe, knowing them personally, they are so smart. Both of you guys are so smart and so well thought out. There's a reason why you guys still are sleeping in the same bed and not wanting to kill each other. You know what I mean?

01:13:03 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 4:

And this may not, like I said, and I've told cherelle this who knows what the future may hold we may get back together but we need time to heal and i don't think that healing can happen not if i have anything to do with that because what you

01:13:13 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 3:

talking about i like trying to share about i like i like to set people up and cherelle i've got no i was about to say eat dark meat this thanksgiving no no no wait i love i love you and i love cherelle and uh you guys will never be with anybody else because i won't allow it what's up george how you

01:13:31 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 1:

doing hey i just want to tell kevin i'm sorry what happened brother but you're a great guy i've been listening to you guys for over 20 years and since you got on the air kevin you have a great personality this time will pass and god will have blessed you tenfold and your children will be

01:13:44 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 3:

perfect as well man amen i appreciate that george thank you thanks buddy what's up rachel hi how are

01:13:50 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

you good morning guys good morning morning so i just wanted to say you know i know it's not easy to share your lives on the radio and i know none of you know me from adam but after years of listening to you guys we we've grown really close to one another i feel and i'm just sending love and you know prayers to kevin and it'll be okay everything happens for a reason like you said and what's meant to be will be man i appreciate that yeah absolutely rachel thank you for the

01:14:20 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 3:

call we appreciate it this is so nice when you get you know our listeners that will come to us And they've done it in every single one of us has gone through struggles in our lives. And they come to us and help us out, you know, through this. And I think you being able to talk about it will be a great therapeutic lift for you. You know, being able to know that you're not having to, like, tiptoe through things. Vinny. Yes, sir. What's going on, Vinny? Hi. No, Mojo, you always say my name wrong every time I come up here.

01:14:52 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

What is your name? Is it Vinay? Vinny. Denny Denny Or Denny Wait, it's Denny?

01:15:00 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you call me Vinny, Lenny.

01:15:02 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 3:

I call you what's written on my screen here right now.

01:15:06 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 1:

Is it Lenny?

01:15:08 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 3:

It says Vinny.

01:15:10 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 1:

You guys got to watch Parks and Rec.

01:15:12 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 3:

It's Lydia that didn't get it. It's Denny. Denny. What's going on, Denny?

01:15:18 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 4:

Hey, man, I knew something was wrong for a couple weeks. I'll say about three weeks right now. There's something wrong that was going on with Sherelle and Kevin. And I was like, man, I wanted to type in into Kevin because sometimes he answers my text when I'm texting 9500. And I said, man, some of you are going to Sherelle. I mean, yeah, he never talked about it. So I was like, then yesterday I even went on the app and listened over to what he was talking about, his friends going out there. I said, yeah, something going on, something going on.

01:15:50 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 2:

And I think Denny, make sure I pronounced that correctly. Go ahead, Denny. Finish your thought.

01:15:56 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And one more thing, man, I've been in and out with my daughter's mother for like 15 years, man. Don't cash in your ticket yet, man. She's going through something right now. She just had a baby and y'all are just going, you know, you probably don't understand some of her feelings right now and all that kind of stuff. It all happens, man. It all moves out later down the road.

01:16:25 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 3:

He didn't discount or he didn't put aside that he and Sherell don't still love each other. And by the way, again, don't speculate. Don't speculate anything. That's the thing. But I don't think that Kev and Sherell are the two types of people that will never have a relationship with each other. And I'm not saying it's sexual or whatever. I'm saying you guys have been meant to be with each other for a very long time.

01:16:55 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 2:

No, that's facts. Yeah. And one thing that Denny mentioned that I want to kind of dig in a little bit is, you know, I'm glad for that push with the conversation we had yesterday. Because another thing that I would hate to have happen is I start saying things on the radio that contradict the thought that I'm going to propose to this woman. Yeah. You know what I mean? And I can't have, like, this double-sided version of me that comes off and I'm saying things that come from a single mouth, but at the same time I have this persona that I'm in a relationship. It doesn't make sense to people. Yeah, and it's not respectful. It confuses what it's a real, yeah.

01:17:32 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 3:

Anika?

01:17:34 - 01:17:35 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys.

01:17:35 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi. You're going through something similar right now.

01:17:39 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 1:

I am. Hey, Kev. I, like the last caller, speculated something was going on a while back, but i've done that with all of your relationships it's very strange i've listened to you guys for way too many years um i speculated it was shannon as well um but uh so yeah i kind of figured something was going on but since uh towards the beginning of this year i've actually been going through a divorce um after 10 years together um we also have two young kids um we have our oldest is going to be four tomorrow and um our youngest just turned one in august so it was uh it was about right after we had him that things just started kind of crumbling and it was same thing no one's fault there was no sides really it just 10 years together we got together when i was 20 we were both very young then we had we grew and had two kids and things grew apart and uh it's been very difficult, but it, it takes time, like you said, and it's definitely that grieving. And what I've found, um, is like, you will grieve those firsts for a bit, like the first, first birthdays, first anniversaries that come up. But also like you, we actually lived in the same house for the first few months after the divorce was discussed and agreed upon, um, and slept in the same bed um for a few months before he found a place to move out to because i um kept the house and he moved out and kept our our business that we had together um so yeah we slept we slept in the same bed nothing happened um and now actually our service technically isn't finalized until early next year but um we're both dating new people um and i'm in a very happy relationship and people are like oh you moved on very fast but um as far as my relationship at least like it took it was a while coming yeah sort of thing like there was nothing there for a bit so but when it first came up I actually messaged Shannon and was like does it get better wow like I messaged Shannon I was like my like I'm going through a divorce like this just happened like

01:19:55 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 3:

does it get better and she goes it does can I tell you something one of the reasons why the

01:20:00 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 1:

show is the way that the show is is for that is you guys are looking towards us or feel comfort enough with us to be able to go and message like you did Shannon and then you feel comfortable enough to call Kevin tell him it's going to get better and that's the beauty of being able to do this radio show and that's why I think that Kevin being able to just bring this up right now and to have you give him a little bit of help um will be something even better for him and I'm here for the

01:20:29 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 3:

other stage of life where uh you need one of those go out nights and say f them babies

01:20:33 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 4:

annika thank you so much we appreciate that yeah guys have a great one do us a favor don't get

01:20:47 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 1:

married fast i will not don't because you seriously i see these people that do that and they go run off and they go get me take it take some time take some time for you yeah absolutely yeah and yeah and for you and cherelle i love you guys so much i i want nothing but the best for you guys and i think our listeners do too you should see by the way that the messages are just so positive i mean they're so positive let me ask you this question real quick um

01:21:13 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 2:

if cherelle is interested you mind if we come on the we don't podcast i would love it okay i've

01:21:18 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 1:

been waiting i'll talk to her i actually wanted the exclusive but i i sold it already to advertise this morning you were like wait really are you sure you want to do this actually i think it would be perfect because i because one of the things that chelsea and i have never had it uh it easy marriage is not easy relationships are not easy and to be quite honest with you this what we're doing right now and doing this whole thing is way easier than being in a relationship so where were you when these songs played on the radio

01:21:47 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 3:

Play along with the throwback throwdown after 8 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:21:57 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I was happy to hear that something that has happened to me before also happens to others. I fall asleep pretty much anywhere and everywhere that I possibly can go. And I love to know that you actually witnessed somebody falling asleep at the nail salon. I did.

01:22:27 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 3:

I totally did. Here's the thing. I went to a new nail salon. And tell me, Shannon, if you love this or hate this. I had the best experience because nobody in the salon was talking. Literally nobody.

01:22:40 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:22:41 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 3:

I love that sometimes.

01:22:42 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 4:

I do too.

01:22:43 - 01:22:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't mean to be rude, but sometimes I don't want to have, like, a fake conversation with you for, like, an hour just because I feel like I'm obligated to.

01:22:52 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 4:

Especially if I'm getting a pedicure, like, I want to read a magazine or just scroll.

01:22:55 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Right, right. So I was sitting there, and it was just quiet. All you could hear was the music playing. I loved it. But that quiet was quickly broken by my own, what I can only describe as loud cackle, when I saw a girl who was sitting at one of the pedicure chairs. Now, when you get like a gel manicure, you can like put on your shoes and leave right away because it's cured and it's dry. But when you get a regular manicure, you have to wait so you can put your shoes back on so that you don't ruin what you just paid for. So this girl definitely got just a regular manicure. She's sitting at a pedicure chair waiting for her toes to dry. And I can see her slowly nodding off. And I'm like, get it, girl. You're sitting in a massage chair. You're relaxed. But then I noticed a lot of those chairs have arms that go up and down so you can, like, scoot into them. And the arm of her chair is up. I'm the only one who noticed that when she's falling asleep, she's leaning to the side. And I see her going. And I almost wanted to yell, like, Timber! Because you were going up. And this girl literally fell out of the pedicure chair. And everybody was concerned except for me, who was the only person cackling in the corner. And I realized, wow, I am the a-hole here.

01:24:14 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 4:

That is, like, it's hard not to fall asleep when you're comfy, especially if they're, like, heated ones and they have that massage. Oh, it's glorious.

01:24:23 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 2:

She was enjoying herself.

01:24:24 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 3:

Why was I the only person to laugh? Like, people falling, as long as they're okay, is funny. Yeah.

01:24:31 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 1:

I doze off, like, all the time, like, in just random places. And I've fallen asleep through my doctor's appointment, where they called my name, like, five or six times. Or when I go to Michigan Medicine, they have those little vibrating things.

01:24:47 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, like the restaurant pagers.

01:24:48 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

And they start off vibrating. So it starts off vibrating. And then it's like, you know, Tom, Tom. like they're saying my real name and stuff and they're going and nobody's and it's like

01:25:00 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 3:

Does nobody know that they should go for the fat guy sleeping over there in the corner? And maybe that might be him.

01:25:07 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 2:

So people need their rest, bro. Yeah.

01:25:09 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 3:

You know what? Honestly, it's kind of like I was going there because I was trying to get a checkup, but I just want to get some good sleep.

01:25:17 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 6:

I mean, you filled the two birds with one stone.

01:25:19 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 3:

Are there places where you feel like, like I would love to have, you talked about getting a pedicure. I'd love to have one of those pedicure chairs in my house, like movie theater chairs. I tell Anthony Laverde over at Imagine, I go, dude, I fall asleep and get the best sleep for two and a half, three hours of a movie. Like, they have, like, those places, like, in the airport where it's a nap room or whatever it is. They should rent out an Imagine nap room so I don't have to drive all the way home.

01:25:45 - 01:25:46 | Speaker 6:

Play some ASMR.

01:25:46 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right, call us up and tell us where is the craziest place that you ever fell asleep. And tell us, like, falling asleep, you know, there. Or somebody was falling asleep. do you ever wait will you wake somebody up like in megan's case you know she's sitting there the whole time just getting in pure enjoyment over the lady who's like falling uh falling over that is

01:26:07 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 2:

kind of funny yeah the craziest place that i felt at least i felt it was crazy because i was like man you should probably stay up for this it was when we were having journey it was like an appointment where i think sure i had gestational diabetes i think that's what it was called or something like that so it was like a very important doctor appointment for us so we can get like her sugar levels and all that under control so it didn't pass through to the baby but the lady who was talking was like oh my god she was talking so slow it was so boring and she's about as close as we are right now like it's like a desk in between as i'm right in her face and i can just feel myself nodding and it was a certain point where i woke up and i was just like i missed the whole damn thing the lady understood too she was like that's okay and again that was her doctor's appointment that you're supposed to be concerned about her oh man i just yeah uh i i've done it

01:26:58 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 3:

worse than that one hold on a second let me see if i can call chelsea real quick let's see if she answers hello chelsea tom tell uh tell these guys about how we went through marital therapy with rob and i slept throughout the entire therapy

01:27:19 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 1:

Yes, so it became a single therapy for me. I solved a lot of my issues.

01:27:28 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 3:

But to my defense, he had that room so hot, and he had these couches that were like you soak into, right? I mean, how could I not fall asleep?

01:27:41 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, I guess into your defense, he would start off and say, so tell me what was going on this week, and you would complain about it because you were in a very bad spot. would complain about what was going on with me and then I would you know try to defend myself or talk about myself and then you drift off into your beautiful

01:27:58 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 3:

little bliss and then at the end of the thing Chelsea and Rob would wake me up

01:28:05 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 1:

and they'd be like Tom what you missed yeah he turns the lights off and at the

01:28:18 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 3:

end of the night i'm letting myself out all right but we're still together what a hell of a therapist

01:28:22 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 1:

unbelievable therapist what a great nap for you exactly all right i'll talk to you later i love

01:28:29 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 3:

you all right uh what's up how you doing samantha good how are you good where'd you fall asleep

01:28:36 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 6:

samantha i fell asleep at my four-hour sugar test when i was pregnant but my husband fell

01:28:43 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 4:

asleep at my grandma's funeral oh no wow like in the actual church yeah well um it was at like

01:28:53 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 3:

the funeral home but yeah what did people in your family think of them it was being rude um i i don't

01:29:00 - 01:29:17 | Speaker 6:

have anything to do with them anymore they're pretty uppity and so they didn't care for it or like it but we had a two-month-old at the time and she didn't sleep very well so i can't i kind you can't blame them but then at the same time like it was really embarrassing yeah wow uh mel

01:29:17 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 3:

you fall asleep all the time when you're getting your hair done all the time it's my favorite place

01:29:23 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 5:

i sit down as soon as they start blow drying my hair i'm out wow you know how sometimes the

01:29:29 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 3:

hairstylist places have like the thing that goes over you when you're getting your hair colored

01:29:33 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 4:

nice and warm is it relaxing yeah i love that everything about being in the hairdresser is relaxing thing when they do the shampoo when they do the brushing out everything wow uh andy you

01:29:45 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 6:

fell asleep standing up yeah i was i was at the end of a sanding line you know but the inspector was looking at the product and i'm waiting there to hang it on a rack and next thing i know

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 4:

no, I see the ground coming at me. I fell asleep standing up waiting for that part to get finished.

01:30:06 - 01:30:07 | Unknown:

Standing.

01:30:08 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 4:

You know, and all I could see was the ground coming at me. Well, I was working 11 to 7, you know, and the inspector that was sitting there, she goes, do you need a no-dose? I go, oh, okay.

01:30:22 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 2:

How many people do you think walked by you while you were working and didn't wake you up?

01:30:27 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 4:

You know what? It was right on the end of the line, and everybody was going to lunch and breaks right by that area. So, you know, there's a lot of people. Oh, there's pictures.

01:30:35 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Yeah. Tim, this is scary. I'm not a skier, but I can only imagine what this would be like. Tell everybody where you fell asleep.

01:30:45 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 3:

I'm a chairlift at Boyne Highland Ski Area up in Harbor Springs. Do you know approximately how many times you went around? no you so you get off the chairlift and the the uh slope kind of ramps away yeah and you know go go down below you and they shut off the lift and i was up like four feet or something like that and uh you know i won't be up but i had to jump off oh my gosh that's funny that would scare the crap out of me you know you get so high up there like what if you would have fell forward right well you know that the other i was just skiing single and the other people skied off the lift and all of a sudden just left you some of them have bars some of them don't you know that's

01:31:33 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 2:

what's scary uh if mike was in today he's out sick i would uh joke about the fact that he fell asleep on the control board that was honestly so funny when he first started working on the show we'll never let him live it down and then this is embarrassing but honestly maybe insulting Marino, where did you fall asleep?

01:31:53 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 4:

I fell asleep at the surf club. Ow!

01:31:56 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 2:

They were that boring? No, it was good, but I was too f***ed. Oh! Jeez, hold on a second. I've got to dump that. You were a little... I just popped it right when I said it. Yeah, I think he didn't get the K out of the F on that one, but we still dumped it anyway. I got a chance to get a lot of shooting, killing, going on. Be sure to take your wages.

01:32:15 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 4:

Let's hear from Rebecca.

01:32:16 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 2:

Wow, so you were just so drunk. They usually kick you out right away, don't they, when that happens?

01:32:20 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, it didn't kick me out. I had five girls on me after I woke up. You know what? They were all stealing your money. Yeah, I did go home broke.

01:32:31 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 3:

Check out our Facebook page. Facebook.com slash Mojo in the Morning.

01:32:37 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. You know that we couldn't stop. Yesterday we talked about poo. Today we're going back at it. It's got to be two days in a row, virtually the same time that while you're driving to work, I hope you can put down whatever it is you're eating because Kevin dropped it in the toilet. I did. And the question is, what did you drop in the toilet that you actually picked up and reused or used again? What was it, Kev?

01:33:04 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 1:

Some things you drop in the toilet that you don't mean to, you know, and you got to get it. And that happened to me. I was finishing up my business. And for some reason, typically when I clean up the areas, it takes place while I'm still seated on the throne. But for some reason, this particular time, I'm trying a no-toilet-paper lifestyle.

01:33:26 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what?

01:33:26 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 1:

And, yeah, I got these cotton nail wipes, cotton nail wipes, and I've been trying to just do the wipes instead of the toilet paper. Okay, so you are wiping. I thought you meant you weren't wiping. No, I ain't going that crazy out here. So, yeah, so cotton nail lifestyle. So for some reason, I decided to stand up and face the, I don't know what I was thinking. I stood up, I faced the toilet, I had my Cottonelle wipes, and my brain must have went somewhere, but I dropped the whole package in the toilet. And immediately I'm like, oh no! And then I reached down, right, because it didn't sink, right? It's kind of like the Titanic, like it like stood up straight. So I had an opportunity to grab it. So I grabbed it, and now I'm like, oh, no, I have to wipe the wipes. Oh, boy. So I got to clean up the wipes and then clean up myself. But I couldn't, because you can't even flush it. It's the package. Right. You know what I mean? So you got to get it out.

01:34:21 - 01:34:22 | Speaker 3:

Either way, it has to come out.

01:34:22 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 1:

It has to come out.

01:34:23 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 3:

And those are cheap.

01:34:24 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 1:

You don't save those. Why not? You're damn right I did. You toss those. How? Like, just in the trash. No, I mean, like, why? Forgive me. Because they're ruined. No, they're not. They're sealed. It's a sealed package. No.

01:34:35 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 2:

But the outside of the thing, you'll never get the fecal matter off of it. Yes, you are.

01:34:40 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 3:

If you dropped your phone in, you'd save it. You wouldn't throw it away. We're talking about something that costs $6. Yeah, $6. That's a Starbucks. Well, not even anymore. You're right. I'm going to keep the phone.

01:34:50 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 2:

If I drop my phone in the toilet, I don't think I'd keep it. I think I'd go for it.

01:34:54 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 3:

You would not.

01:34:55 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 2:

I don't think I would.

01:34:57 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 3:

You wouldn't get a new one is what I'm saying.

01:34:59 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, sh**.

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 6:

Shannon, because I have the insurance thing, I probably would claim an insurance thing. I would say that there's something wrong. And if they said something, I would hand them my phone and say, this fell in the toilet. Here, take a look at it and see. And when they didn't want to touch it.

01:35:12 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 4:

If it was a public toilet. Case closed. I might change my mind.

01:35:16 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 6:

So your own fecal matter is better than the fecal matter of strangers.

01:35:20 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:35:21 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I think, first off, congratulations to Kevin on finally coming over to the team that Shannon and I, and maybe Megan, I don't know. Megan, I don't know your wiping skills. But Shannon and I have been with the whole, we don't use toilet paper, we use wet wipies. And the reason is, you would never, if I put poo on your hand, wash or clean it off with a dry piece of toilet paper.

01:35:47 - 01:35:48 | Speaker 4:

And feel clean.

01:35:48 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 6:

And feel clean. You would wash it with water and soap and all the rest of that stuff.

01:35:52 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:35:52 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 6:

Megan, do you use wipes? Of course I do. Good, thank you.

01:35:55 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 5:

Are you still toilet paper or are you strictly wipes? I mean, if I'm at home, it's wipes, and if I'm in public, it's got to be toilet paper.

01:36:01 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 4:

See, even if I'm at home, I do the toilet paper first, and the finisher is the wipe. Yeah, yeah, for sure.

01:36:10 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 6:

I got my dude wipes over here in the corner that I bring with me everywhere I go.

01:36:13 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 4:

If not, you'll use too many wipes, and that's a waste. Agreed, because they're expensive. They're expensive, but they're not. To my point that you save that package. They're not cell phone expensive, y'all.

01:36:22 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 6:

Becky, Kev dropped it in the toilet and used it again. What did you drop in the toilet?

01:36:28 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 1:

Cell phone. And this would have been one of the rugged, like, MaxTel, you know, two-way ones. But before it was flush, after taking a crap, and it was a work phone, so gave it back to the boss because it wouldn't work. He let it dry out and got it to work, and so he used it. And he was joking that it had crappy reception.

01:36:51 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 6:

Are you telling me that the boss knew it was or didn't know it was dropped in the toilet?

01:36:57 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 1:

He absolutely knew. That's why it was given back to him, because I needed a new work phone. And he was like, well, I'll see if it still works. And he used it afterwards.

01:37:05 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 6:

That man's an animal.

01:37:07 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 1:

That man's an animal.

01:37:10 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 6:

Is it Lena or Lena?

01:37:13 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Lena.

01:37:13 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 6:

Lena, what's up?

01:37:15 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So, yeah, I dropped my wallet into the toilet one time. And I pulled it out. I had to fish it out. I had already peed. It was not my best moment. And then I got pulled over the next day, and I had to hand my wet registration and insurance paperwork to the police officer who asked, oh, why is it all wet? And I just busted out laughing. I definitely did not tell him the truth.

01:37:45 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. Don't you feel bad, though, that the poor man went home to his family with dirty hands?

01:37:52 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 3:

I hope that he washed them afterwards. I hope.

01:37:56 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. By the way, you will never touch anything that's wet anymore without thinking that the person's lying to you. No. By the way, thank God that it was only pee. If it's only pee in the toilet, then I don't feel so bad. But if it's a number two, I don't know if I want to. Thank you. Appreciate it.

01:38:10 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 3:

No, I probably wouldn't have fished it out.

01:38:13 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. A lot of people, by the way, somebody said that they tell me you wouldn't do this. somebody told me that their kid dropped their retainer in the toilet and they cleaned it off for them and let them put it back in their mouth.

01:38:25 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, not in my mouth. Drop it like in some peroxide or something like that. Come on. If we're talking about things that are expensive, retainers are thousands of dollars, bro. No. At least they weren't back in the day. And you get an insurance package. Retainers are expensive. I used to drop mine in the trash and every time it happened I had to get it.

01:38:45 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 6:

313 dropped their partial teeth into the toilet. Oh, my God.

01:38:50 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 5:

They wonder why they brushed it.

01:38:53 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Kirsten?

01:38:55 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 2:

Hi. My mom, one night she was drinking too much, and she lost her glasses in the toilet. Couldn't find it, called me the next day. She ended up having to snake her toilet out to find her glasses in there because, you know, that's what she did.

01:39:09 - 01:39:12 | Speaker 4:

Wait, how do you lose your glasses in the toilet? Don't you just drop them and you see them in there?

01:39:12 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 6:

Wait, did she Roto-Rooter him out and then put him back on her face?

01:39:19 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

You know, my dad's a pretty handyman, so he, like, did a snake on there and he just snaked him out for her.

01:39:25 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 6:

Snake eyes. But did she use him again?

01:39:27 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 2:

She definitely did.

01:39:28 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God.

01:39:29 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 2:

She definitely did.

01:39:30 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 6:

I would never.

01:39:32 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 2:

Do you call her Poo-Poo Face now? I call her a lot of things.

01:39:37 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 6:

I like that. Thank you for the call. Poo-Poo, cuck-cuck face.

01:39:40 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 4:

it's time for more mojo mojo in the morning all right it's mojo in the morning uh shannon

01:39:48 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 6:

uh something happened yesterday that kind of gave you some realization about something that

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

you're struggling with this morning what's that so i've always joked about my lack of uh skills in the kitchen.

01:40:00 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 2:

I call myself domestically disabled all of the time because I can't cook. I can cook, like, a few things okay, but for the most part, like, I just never, like, my mom wasn't really a big cook, so I didn't, like, learn from her or any, like, it wasn't anything like that, and this has never been as big of an issue, and I've never felt it as much as I feel now. And this might sound stupid, but it's truly making me feel like I'm falling short as a wife and a mom and a stepmom, because this actually wasn't last night. It was the night before last. Like everybody, everybody's schedule is is very different, which doesn't help this. So my kids, Wes, all four kids had sports until about 730. And by the time I got home, the older kids were home and Wes had told them to just fend for themselves in terms of dinner. Now, mind you, we have a ton of options. We have Costco stuff. We have fresh stuff from the grocery store in the fridge to make whatever. But it's not like I had prepared a dinner for them or anybody that was waiting for them on the stove when they got home. right? Lucy and Smith, I made them hot dogs and cut up some like fruit and veggies and called it a dinner. I had half of a leftover burger. I don't even know what Wes ended up eating when he got home from from doing all of his stuff. And so it's just like very disjointed and discombobulated. And I just feel like I get anxiety. Like yesterday, I had anxiety as dinnertime was approaching. Like, what am I going to feed everybody and everybody like something different and i i don't know i just feel like i fail in that area i feel like i'm a good mom and stepmom when it comes to and wife when it comes to everything else but that's the one area where

01:41:53 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 3:

i'm like did you feel the same way when it was just you and the kids before uh you started uh

01:41:59 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 2:

dating west and then honestly no because the kids are happy with like chicken nuggets in the air fryer i mean who isn't and i'm happy with girl dinner a bowl of cereal like olives whatever like whatever i have i can make it into something and nobody else is judging me right and now the best and now it's like i have wes and sam and kieran who i want to be better for, and I am not, they're very healthy, they're athletes, plus their teenagers are different

01:42:39 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 3:

also, even if they're not intentional about the healthy ends, they eat more, they need more, they need more nourishment, and a bowl of cereal doesn't always cut it for them.

01:42:48 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 2:

And Pinterest is like real overwhelming to me with recipe, like I just, I don't know.

01:42:53 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys ever sit down as a, as a family now of six of you guys?

01:42:58 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 2:

So, no, and that's what else, like, is kind of weighing on me, and I know that it's 2024, and we're a modern blended family, and whatever, everybody's busy. If we did that, we wouldn't be eating until probably, like, 8 o'clock.

01:43:13 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 3:

Because everybody's hours are so different.

01:43:14 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 2:

My kids' bedtime is 8.30.

01:43:16 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 3:

I got to tell you this. I don't know. It's really wild. We have friends of ours that they intentionally tell their family, like, everybody has to be home on one or two days a week where they at least have to be able to. It's like usually like Sunday dinner or whatever and try to do it together just so that everybody can get together. Because it's funny, it became one of those things where on Thanksgiving you do it and you go, this is really kind of cool to get everybody here together. And then you go, well, why can't we try to do it at least a couple of times a week or month, you know? But I don't, I'm always amazed by the people who, I'm amazed by two things. Number one, why is it always the woman's, you know, job to figure out what dinner is going to be about?

01:43:55 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, I have to say, Wes is very helpful here. I'm putting this on myself. I am putting this on myself. I'm about to say, when's the last time you could? If Wes ever, Wes meal preps like our champ, usually on Sundays. But he, like he's been crazy busy too, so we didn't do it this week. So I feel like that's why I'm really, really feeling it.

01:44:14 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm also amazed at the, there are a lot of people who can literally, with nothing in their house, whip up a full meal that just looks amazing.

01:44:24 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 2:

I want to be, that's my neighbor.

01:44:25 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 3:

Dog, she's got to come over to my grandma's house. She'll get you together.

01:44:29 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 2:

I would love for somebody to come over and be like, okay, I'm going to teach you some basics. And that way you can do this in, you know, under half an hour and everybody will be happy. I need that person. Hey, Meredith. And you have to reach out to me.

01:44:40 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead, Meredith, and then Megan, a comment afterwards. What's going on?

01:44:45 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Not much. How are you guys doing? So, Shannon, what I do to survive and stay sane in my blended household is every Monday is spend-for-yourself night. All the kids know it. If I come home from...

01:45:00 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 7:

work on monday and they're like what's for dinner i look at them and say what day is it and they're

01:45:05 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 1:

like oh and i'm like yep are there are there options though do you have things in there like

01:45:10 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 7:

leftovers the house is all the houses yeah there's okay my kids are are seven or i'm sorry eight years old and up so they all know how to either put something in the microwave put something on

01:45:21 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 1:

the stove your eight-year-old does their own meal huh oh absolutely like what kind of meals are we

01:45:27 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 7:

talking like ramen or you know like a little there's these like yakisoba like teriyaki meals that you can just put water in a sauce pack in and put that in the microwave but um do you guys ever sit down and do family dinner oh yeah it's just it's not you know it's not all that often i mean we have a small house so yeah so we will have dinner where we make it but generally us two adults have to sit elsewhere and then all the kids sit at the table because we just can't accommodate everybody at one big table which sucks but um but yeah every monday every monday is spend for yourself and that's just i know that i have that day that i don't have to cook the kids are going to take care of themselves there's always enough food in the house if they don't like something oh well find something if you're hungry enough you'll eat it um and that's our night off where we don't have to think about dinner and we can just have it and not have to adult as much on

01:46:28 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 1:

one night of the week yeah uh thank you for the call susan hi hi what's up good morning my message

01:46:37 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 8:

was for shannon shannon i'm i'm old she sounds like mrs doubtfire i know i love you already do

01:46:43 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 1:

you want to sign up to do you want to sign up to be shannon's mrs doubtfire i just watched mrs

01:46:49 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 8:

that far last night. It was hysterical. So, Shannon, all I was going to say is don't overthink it. It's so simple and fun. Just get crock pot, can of chicken soup, get a Costco's chicken, pull all the chicken off, throw it in, put silver foil on the top, a full baked potato, and put it in a crock pot. Just let it cook all day, honey. Welcome home to a deliciously smelling meal, and it's easy peasy for you. Oh, my God, I love her.

01:47:14 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, which channel are you on?

01:47:16 - 01:47:28 | Speaker 5:

I love you, Susan. The problem, And I love crockpot stuff. The problem is, like, someone doesn't like onions. Sam doesn't like soup. Don't use onions. It's like, you know what I mean? It's like, that's the other thing, is everybody has different.

01:47:29 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 1:

I think they, I think they're too hard on myself. I do think you're very hard. But I also think this, that the kids can eat whatever, they can pick the onions out of it, you know? Or they can pick whatever it is. You gotta do the one meal and hope that, you know, shove it. Why is it that when I was a kid, I used to, I was a family of six. I would eat anything that was put in front of me. Look at me.

01:47:53 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 5:

Oh my God, my children are so picky.

01:47:55 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 1:

That's because KP, also family of six. Yes. If there was enough, because you never got enough food, right?

01:48:00 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 3:

Yes, you have to fight tooth and nail for anything that is made. So the only thing I wouldn't eat is stir fry.

01:48:08 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 5:

Like even with chicken nuggets with Smith, he's like, that's the white package. I only like the blue package. That's the wrong ketchup.

01:48:17 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 3:

Send him to the Penrose home. He'll come back 10 pounds lighter and eat everything you may.

01:48:25 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine KP's mom? We all know KP's mom's a boss lady.

01:48:28 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 5:

I love Mama KP.

01:48:30 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 1:

You need her with that lady that was just on with us, Mrs. Doubtfire. Tell those kids. It's like wife swap. Amy, what's up?

01:48:38 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's up? So, Shannon, you could start with maybe some, like, semi-homemade dinners where you buy stuff that's, like, maybe already prepared, and then you put your own twist on it. If you look up, I think it's, like, the semi-homemade with Sarah Lee or somebody. But, I mean, I love to cook, and my kids are all picky, so I usually end up making all different stuff, but I love doing that. But start off with maybe some semi-homemade meal recipes. They're pretty easy.

01:49:10 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 1:

Like grab-and-go type of stuff. What's happening, Brad?

01:49:16 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I have a few friends that they had a problem with cooking, and they went online and got the boxes that were shipped to your house with the recipes in them.

01:49:25 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 4:

So that's what I've been trying to say. That's how I got into cooking was HelloFresh, and I did that for nearly two years. You get to keep all of the recipes.

01:49:34 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 5:

Those are the biggest pain in my ass. I tried that.

01:49:36 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 4:

I have tried that. What do you mean it's all pre-done for you?

01:49:39 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. It's like a lot of work. How is it more work than cooking? It works. It's pre-portions. It's just me. But then it's the same thing. What do you mean? Like half of the stuff they don't like, and then I'm stuck with it. You know what I mean?

01:49:54 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 4:

No, because now I just think that there's no way for you to cook.

01:49:58 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 1:

There's a place by my house, and I can't remember. remember what the name is like daily eats or something like that but you go in there's nobody even working and they have heat up meals you walk in yeah grab them out of their fridge and then you scan it right there at the door and whatever and you go and my neighbor uh neighbors do that and they love it they absolutely love it though uh well i mean it's it's healthier than probably

01:50:18 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 2:

ordering a doordash from mcdonald's but i thought you wanted to get into cooking yeah shannon's too any ingredients i just need i need to win the lottery and i need to hire susan

01:50:29 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 1:

i i also think that a lot of times people put a lot of pressure on themselves to try to do it and if you just start at we'll do it once a week then all of a sudden it becomes something that you're like this isn't as bad as i thought it was going to be yeah and just try to and honestly i chelsea so chelsea i like eating at the uh you know the kitchen or not the kitchen the couch and whatever, what the hell am I brain farting on? What the hell do you call your table in front of your couch?

01:51:00 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the coffee table?

01:51:00 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 1:

The coffee table, yes. I don't drink coffee on it. I'm not allowed to. But Chelsea will not eat dinner there and she requires that we, even if it's just two of us, we have to sit at the kitchen table. Yeah. And I gotta be honest with you, it makes me eat slower when I do it that way. Because if I'm on the couch, I eat like a freaking savage.

01:51:18 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting. I'm crazy.

01:51:20 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:51:20 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, thank you for all the suggestions. I truly, truly appreciate them. I just.

01:51:27 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 1:

Win tickets to see Kendrick and SZA. I want you to text squabble right now to 95500. That's squabble, S-Q-U-A-B-B-L-E to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply, and you could be going to the show at Ford Field. If you see somebody crying, so if you see somebody like that's, you know, tearful, Do you walk up to them to console them Or do you completely avoid them Like the plague Because you're afraid that they're nuts

01:52:01 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 2:

Are we talking about all of us or you? Because my answer is different

01:52:05 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 1:

I am a sloppy crier, by the way This is definitely me Oh, I am a My God, snot running in my mustache

01:52:13 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever seen Kim Kardashian cry?

01:52:15 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 1:

Is she sloppy?

01:52:17 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 2:

Not sloppy, just really ugly That's what I look like

01:52:19 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's ugly.

01:52:20 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 2:

It's a bad, it can't control a face.

01:52:21 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm not an ugly crier. I am a sloppy crier. It just gets really sloppy. So Saturday, I was flying back from New York. So I went to New York for a fundraiser that my niece put on for my brother-in-law, her dad, who has early onset Alzheimer's. Diagnosed at 54 years old. This is one of the greatest guys I've ever met. And he right now doesn't know who he is, basically. You know, he knows who his family is and thank God, you know, his wife is my sister and knows me. Actually, it was one of the reasons why I really wanted to go because it calms him when he sees people that he knows and he gets freaked out when he sees other people. So we get done with the weekend. It was awesome. I was so proud of Audrey for what she did and how she raised a bunch of money. And the money that she raised and she helped raise last year actually went towards a couple of new developments that they just came up with, which were pretty awesome. She's part of a group of young professionals. They're all 20 and 30-year-olds, and it literally is nothing but 20 and 30-year-olds, and they do these fundraisers. So it's pretty cool. So I'm in the airport. We're in New York, in LaGuardia Airport, which, by the way, might be the greatest airport I've ever been in. They redid that airport. It's fabulous. If you've never been to LaGuardia Airport, back in the day, it used to be, honestly, a place you worried that you were, you know, going to get some kind of a disease. You might still get one, but it's a nicer disease. So I'm sitting down. Chelsea is gone to go get us waters. And I am making a post on Instagram and Facebook where I'm looking through pictures of me taking, you know, some fun moments with my brother-in-law, Scott. And I start getting really emotional as I'm writing, you know, about him and his disease that he is battling. And this fine gentleman walks up to me. And when I say gentleman, he's probably, he's like at my age or maybe a little older. And he walks up, puts his hand on my shoulder and goes, it will be okay.

01:54:25 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's so beautiful.

01:54:26 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

And I looked at him and I go, oh, thanks. I appreciate it. And then I thought, do I explain to him? I did not get divorced or did not. I'm not getting breaking up. Yeah, but still, it applies. He goes, it will be okay. And he puts his hand on my shoulders and gives me that nice thing. I'm like, oh, thanks. And then I'm like trying to explain to him because for some reason I'm like thinking, if I explain to him what's going on, he'll then. So I'm like, I was in town for a fundraiser for my brother-in-law's got early onset Alzheimer's and we ended up having a little chat. And then Chelsea walks up and she walks up with the water and she sees me with my new friend. and we're talking for a little

01:55:00 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 4:

bit and he was very nice and he was not going to uh he was not going to detroit he was going to dallas and they were at the terminal which was right next to the detroit they put the d's right next to each other the d's you know what the d's are i was going to the little d's nuts i'm gonna make you cry um but i asked this question if you see somebody crying do you walk up to them and do you say something to them because i feel like back in the day and And when I mean back in the day, I mean back even like five, ten years ago, I would walk up to somebody and I would offer them a hug. Nowadays, I'd be afraid they'd call the police on me.

01:55:39 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 3:

I agree with the whole touching thing. But I think if you would have asked me this five minutes ago, I would have said absolutely not leave that person alone. But I think something we touch on a lot on this show is men's mental health and men expressing emotion. so for you to express emotion and have another man without any contact just comfort you in a public setting and not need justification for that emotion i love i think that was yeah that's a good point yeah that is a good point five minutes ago i would have been like

01:56:07 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 4:

would you walk up to a like if i saw an elderly man crying i'd walk up to him like the man from up like if i saw him there i'd say sir did your house just fly away by balloons

01:56:24 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 5:

i'd like to believe that there's a version of me that 100 of the time no matter how the wind is blowing will go up to somebody and say are you okay yeah but the reality is i'm not that that person i just pray for you for a distance like i hope i hope everything is okay you know like you sit there and you do the look he'll be fine she'll be fine because i i have had those situations where you go up to somebody and they just kind of brush you off i'm i'm fine i'm fine yeah like i've had those situations too so it's kind of like weird yeah like all right like if

01:56:58 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 4:

you saw a woman crying if as a guy i'd be worried walk up to her because i'd be honestly be worried that she or people would think i made her cry yeah you know what i mean right yeah this happened

01:57:08 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 2:

to us last night i was i was actually at kroger with lucy and smith and we walked in and there was a kroger employee a female who was crying oh and there was another male employee who was kind of just like standing right next to her and lucy walked past and she was like mama did you see that lady crying and i looked back and noticed her and so and i i normally i don't know i don't know if i normally kev to your point would like insert myself into the situation but it she it like togged in my heart so bad so i went back to her and said is everything okay are you okay and the gentleman who was with her said oh somebody on the internet was was bullying her and i think she may have had special needs um which is awesome that kroger you know helps helps give those individuals a job and um and so uh we you know said a few words to her and walked away and i said to the kids i have an idea we should go into the flower department and we should buy her flowers and we should go give her the flowers and smith was so for this so we did and he was the one that walked up to her and gave her the flowers oh my god her face lit up wow lit up that guy didn't buy me anything i'm sorry i didn't even get a starbucks

01:58:23 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 4:

from him how dare that guy no that's sweet though that is very sweet that's awesome to do That's a teaching moment for your kids, too.

01:58:31 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 5:

For sure. I was going to say, he invited you into the bathroom to talk about it, but you said no.

01:58:36 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 4:

You missed her off the TV. I think, honestly, I think he could have been. I mean, who knows? I mean, you said they put the D's together. Right, exactly. Gay sex, whoa. Donnie, what's going on? What do you do? First off, good morning, Donnie. Good morning.

01:58:55 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 1:

First caller of the day.

01:58:57 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 4:

What's happening?

01:58:58 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I hugged a stranger. My husband and I, we were sitting in a Meijer parking lot, and we had just parked, and there was a lady and her husband and their kid getting out of their car. The husband was just, like, yelling at his wife, going crazy. She was crying. He stormed off into the store. My husband and I just looked at each other like, that's crazy. We started to walk in the store, and I was like, hold on. I turned around, and I, like, went up to her car, and she was crying. She rolled down her window. I talked to her like I started crying and she let me hug her but it's like it's just so weird to see that in public and I just like try to encourage her like I hope you feel safe I hope there's somebody you could go to that's not okay like it's just I just felt a need to like have that heart to heart with her like it it just made me feel so good but that is so nice she let me hug her I have no idea where her name is but I hope she's doing okay and I hope she left that man

01:59:54 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

No, that is so nice. That is sweet. I will say this, that you talk to cops.

02:00:00 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 2:

say stay away from domestic situations because sometimes but majority people do and and and i think sometimes we don't put our heads in or noses into it i guess our heads heads would be kind of weird right we put our noses into it uh because we're worried about it but we could be the person

02:00:16 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 1:

that could be the saving person for them you know i really i really hope i really hope i mean i think about her all the time i really hope she was able to get away because if if people act like that in public imagine what they do in private it was just scary and i just hope she was okay thank you for

02:00:33 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 2:

the call donnie appreciate you of course um texters texting in 95500734 says mind your own damn business that's a person by the way that's woke up on the wrong side of the bed you might need a hug uh another person said oh my god shannon your story just made me tear up oh that's Kenyatta said that and then this one right here this is 419. 419 says did this one time only to find out that the person was having the worst day ever now we're best friends for the last 20 years. Those are like stories that Hallmark writes as movies.

02:01:10 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 3:

The only magic trick we know is how to disappear when a guy gets too clingy.

02:01:14 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 2:

See ya! You're listening to Mojo in the Morning. Alright, it is Mojo in the Morning.

02:01:18 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 3:

uh megan says that i might be a little psychic it's actually uncanny how crazy good you are at predicting what's going on in my life because no crap edited myself there you're welcome uh you made a comment yesterday that was so out of the blue that it almost feels like you were in on the secret because you don't bring this stuff up often but you said something along the lines of why do i feel like you're dating somebody why do i feel like you've got something going on and you're just not telling us because uh you were right and i did have a date last night

02:01:55 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 2:

you are dating somebody you know why i knew that there was something going on because the way that you and shannon now that we're all closer together in our little intimate nice studio here um the way that you guys look at each other it's like you're passing notes back and forth in class we i think we can actually say a lot with a look okay tell us about this date then i want to know what's going on well it was really

02:02:28 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 3:

funny because you said dating not dating date because it was the first one last night was it

02:02:34 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 2:

somebody you met on uh on one of the app thing don't worry about it don't worry you'll get

02:02:38 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 3:

information when you get information okay okay for legal reasons um shut up shut up or turn around or leave the studio shannon or i will not have this conversation with you around thank you so last night we go out to a bar out in cork town which i love this place but i had no idea that this bar had trivia so about an hour or so after we um started the date this trivia sets up and it might be louder than any club that I have ever been to in my entire life and you're thinking well it's trivia it's just asking questions right no no he's playing mini DJ in between each of the questions but the music in this venue was so incredibly loud that for the rest of the day We just kept going, huh? What? What did you say? Write it down. Because we had the trivia paper. I was just taking notes on the back of a piece of paper. I'd be so annoyed. I can't believe you stayed. Well, we were playing trivia too because it was kind of a fun way to keep things going. And like, I don't know. Just have a little bit of extra fun while we were talking to each other. But at a certain point, it was just like, now we can't even hold a conversation.

02:03:52 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 2:

What did you say his name was?

02:03:54 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 3:

Who?

02:03:55 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 2:

She didn't say. That was good. Whose idea was it to go to this place? Like, did you know it was going to be trivia?

02:04:02 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 3:

No, that's what he said. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:04:04 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 2:

That sucks when you go on a date, and I can only imagine that that's got to be tough. And I would love to know if our listeners can tell us, like, the worst first date because it was a bad place to go to for a first date. But when you can't even talk to each other, and you're just sitting there, and you're looking at each other, then it's all based on appearance.

02:04:23 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 3:

Right, and it wasn't a bad date. I want to make that really clear. It was not a bad date. It was just like I felt like I was 80 years old and needed hearing aids. You know what I mean? So will there be a second date? Maybe.

02:04:37 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 2:

Would you like one?

02:04:39 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Okay.

02:04:41 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, I got some good news for you.

02:04:42 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 3:

It's like a kindergartner being as simple yes or no questions.

02:04:45 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Look who's on the phone with us right now. Shut up. no um i i remember when chelsea and i went out on a date once it was our first date and we thought bowling would be a good

02:05:00 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 1:

one and bowling was not a good one because guess what when you're a very bad bowler and not athletic and that's me not her it's bad then because you can only so many times put throw the ball down the aisle like you're freaking fred flintstone and you're joking yeah and then after that you're kind of like this guy isn't cute anymore i think that'd be such a cute and the guys in the lane next to us was a group of guys that were all bowling were all kind of flirty with chelsea and they're kind of like first off one guy goes hey is that your sister like literally says that to me because he's probably thinking there's no way you're dating somebody it's like that's not

02:05:32 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 4:

a good date and then that's like movies i don't know why people choose to go to a movie on a first date because you're not what are you gonna do that's awkward how do you get to know somebody

02:05:40 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 2:

um sath what's up hey mojo so megan i want to preface this with i love you you're amazing comma but dot dot dot but mojo yeah did you are you actually psychic or did you just notice that Megan shaved her legs. There you go.

02:06:01 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 1:

I did infect you with my legs.

02:06:04 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Megan.

02:06:05 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 4:

I love you. How are you? That's a great one. Happy that you shaved your legs. Shut up, Shannon Murphy. I swear to God. I swear to God. Leave me alone. Get out of here. Was it a waste of time or was it a good investment? I don't know. I don't know. Can I just... Okay, this is why I don't share anything with you guys. I don't have said anything. I asked a question that people are texting in. I hate the secrecy. You hate the secret thing. Tell us all of your business. Like, I don't talk about my butthole on this radio station. Can I have a few pieces of information that are private? I didn't even wait a lot of time. The date was last night.

02:06:36 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it's good to know what you hold sacred. You'll talk buttholes, but you won't talk dates. Joe, what's up? That is crazy. Hi, buddy. Joe.

02:06:45 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, hey, guys. It's Omega. Don't hide it. You're dating Steve Gavara now, aren't you? Not Stevie G. That's what's going on. No.

02:06:53 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 4:

Not Stevie G. He's my marriage pact. I'll marry him one day, but I'm not dating him correctly.

02:07:01 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second here. This is unbelievable. Let me get the music all set up for you here. We do have a second date update here right now. This is legit. I've got to actually do some production elements on this one. All right. Second date update right now here on the Mojo in the Morning show. Hello. Mojo in the Morning driven by me.

02:07:20 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

Is that for me?

02:07:22 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 1:

Can we ask Steve Gabara to, instead of saying Mojo in the Morning, driven by me, it could be Megan driven by me, Steve Gabara. What's up, Jill? Hi. Hi there. How you doing? We were talking about how Megan went on a date last night, and it was a bad option because it was trivia night with a DJ.

02:07:45 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, those DJs get way too loud sometimes. I have, this is like something from the past that happened to me. I'm, like, very happily married now. And this just helped the date fizzle out a little sooner than it probably would have. But I didn't know the premise of the movie Gone Girl. Oh, yeah. So we went on a date. Wait, that was your date? Gone Girl? Yeah.

02:08:05 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 1:

It's been affluent, right?

02:08:05 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it's, like, a spoiler alert because that movie came out, like, years ago. No, no, no, no. I'm in the middle of the book. Don't you dare. I still haven't seen it. You have not seen it? What?

02:08:14 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 1:

No, I still, no, I'm in the middle of the book. It's definitely not a date-y movie. I don't know.

02:08:18 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 3:

But also, like, what's the time frame? Like, if it's, like, more than five years in the past, like, do you get to, like, be protected from spoiler alerts? Yeah, when you politely ask, don't spoil it, please. No. I wouldn't do that to you. I got you, girl. But, like, let's just, I mean, you can already get the gist that it's, like, not a romantic movie.

02:08:36 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 1:

It's not romantic, and it's bad for a relationship movie. And, by the way, yes, you're right. If it's not in the same decade, you can not have to do a spoiler alert on it.

02:08:44 - 02:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Right? Like, you, like, lost. Like, we don't have to, like, worry about, but she asked nicely. And I, like, it's my girl. I got her. I'm not going to spoil that for her. Thank you.

02:08:51 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Jill.

02:08:51 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, that's just, you should know the premise of the movie.

02:08:54 - 02:09:10 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself. Yeah, no, that's probably a good idea. The plot line needs to know, like, honestly, there are certain things that you go see. You do not go see a movie that's based on bad relationships. Well, when will there be a second date? Megan, do we know?

02:09:10 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, this is also kind of like an awkward time to start dating of the year. Yes. Because the holidays get busy. I think sometimes, not for me personally, but sometimes uncomfortable to be like, do you want to come over for the holidays and meet my whole family even though we went on two dates?

02:09:24 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:09:25 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 4:

So it's a little bit awkward. I think it's going to be a little bit more spaced out.

02:09:28 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:09:29 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:09:29 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, we're very happy for you.

02:09:31 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 4:

Sounds like it.

02:09:33 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 1:

I am. I swear to God. We just want Megan happy. That's all I care about is Megan happy. We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around. Now we're broke and single. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:45 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:47 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:00 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Had everybody in for the holidays. Had everybody kind of enjoying themselves. It was fun to have them there. I'm not going to lie to you. I was happy when everybody left and went home. I just don't let them know that. Although I kind of did let them know that. Like, it got to a point Joe wanted to change his ticket. And he's like, maybe I'll stay till Monday and I'll do the show from Tampa in Detroit. And I'm like, I don't think we have studios. oh like that's crazy i'm like it's time for you to go it got to be so well first off there's a couple of reasons number one same as shannon you're you're doing everybody's dishes you're cleaning up after everybody like they think that they can just come back home and they can throw

02:10:43 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 1:

their crap all over cleaning holy and thank you to wes for doing all the cooking yeah i am acknowledging that but the clean it was like out of control and then it was you know how expensive

02:10:51 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 2:

it is every time that I'm hungry. Okay. Joe, you're a grown guy. Like go find food. You know where the food is. You can go get your own food. And Joe's like, well, aren't you guys going to order anything? I'm like, no, I'm not hungry right now. Uh, and, and I honestly, I would sneak food because if I got food, he would want my food. So it got to be that crazy. And then it got to this. Okay. So here's something for you. I have to ask you a question. What is the craziest way that you have ever asked your significant other for sex because it got to a point where, like, I was spending zero time alone with Chelsea. Like, not even in our bedroom was I spending time alone. You think it's bad with kids that are your guys' age, Shannon? Yeah. Or Cav? Yeah. When your kids are older, and they don't even care that there's a closed door, they just walk into the room. So I was laying in bed. Chelsea's in the other room, and she's watching countless stuff that Joe's got her. Every comedy show. Like, it literally is like, hey, did you guys see this? He's got YouTube up on the TV. It's like nonstop. Like, none of us want to watch this stuff. It's so annoying. It is awful. I'm annoying or he's annoying. You're so annoying. I'm annoying? Yes. Oh, I'm so annoying. So I sent Chelsea a calendar invite, like our bosses do around here for, like, meetings. Or Brendan. Or Brendan does all the time. I sent I sent her a calendar invite and the invite was location our bedroom what the actual thing was that we were meeting for was hopefully we were going to have some sex and uh she sends me a text right away and goes no oh she didn't even just decline it she didn't even decline it she just goes no and I'm like no no yeah there was no that's the wrong no yeah yeah no no no you should have resented with a zoom link in there right it was like no so i um i i'm like this is ridiculous so i sent her a text i go come to the room and she goes i will be there in just a moment then she comes in she goes we're not having sex the kids are all home and she's like that's just not going to happen especially because we have a first floor master bedroom and on the first floor master bedroom the wall on the other side of the master bedroom is our great room where our television is yeah so all you'll hear the whole time is theo vaughn or something like that you know or whoever the comedian is joe has like a million comedians like do you know this guy dad dude have you heard of this guy i'm like joe i really don't care i really don't care this joke is amazing hold on hold on and i'm like oh great

02:13:37 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Will Chelsea not have sex if there are people in the house?

02:13:42 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea does not. First off, I've learned this. Chelsea assumes that everybody's listening for us to have sex. And I'm like, nobody, first off, believes that we have sex. They don't even believe that the three kids that we have are our kids. They don't even believe that we both produce them together. But she will not do it because she has this belief. And I know you just recently had all of Wes's family in from Canada. You guys weren't banging while the family was there, were you?

02:14:09 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 1:

I'll be honest with you. We would have. I have no qualms about that whatsoever, but we were so dang exhausted that we didn't. But the minute everybody left yesterday, I'm talking the minute, all of our clothes came off.

02:14:22 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Oh, yeah, daddy.

02:14:24 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 1:

At nighttime, I mean, I was going to bed. You guys know I go to bed at like nine. It was one, two in the morning some nights. I was so dang tired. Nothing was happening.

02:14:33 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 2:

We were, yeah. By the way, there were no stuffing of turkeys in our house. No bangs giving? No, there was a lot of taking the garbage out. And the other thing, too, is, and I don't know if this happens, I went to Costco and bought a bunch of bottled water and little mini cans of Coke. In my house, I had to have people writing with a Sharpie marker their names on stuff because people would take two sips and they would leave it. See? Bruh. my house every day look i got an aunt that only buys many bottles of water and it's the worst because i mean i'm gonna drink five of those just give me the whole bottle i promise you'll take a

02:15:08 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 3:

sip out of five of them and you'll leave five of them sitting around i'm a thirsty guy uh i hydrate um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 all right here's the question question number one is when you have family in for holidays do you guys have sex when family's there question number two is how do you get time to be there you know what i mean like there was a couple of times where it was me not ordering doordash just to get out of my house like i didn't want to do man that's bad and the doordash orders you know when doordash becomes really expensive when the doordash order is no longer them giving you advice on what tip that they think you should give when they do the percentage thing and you realize that the percentage is more than what you would have spent if you went to a restaurant yeah i'm like the bill was so expensive we had seven people

02:15:58 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 5:

all the time eating it was like crazy uh text here seven people that all drive and y'all

02:16:05 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 3:

were still and i and i was having to go do it no and they all wash dishes we finally had to say all right here's the deal because we did our thanksgiving early because we went to the game all right here's the deal you're setting the table you're doing like we had to divvy out yeah no chores basically you were dan camp people weren't people weren't yeah i was like yeah blue 42 hut hut move go get your ass off the couch um texter here 586 says mojo i've done the calendar invite before for my wife i've actually put it on her calendar and her assistant sees it all the time and laughs i would be so mad that's great that's different yeah um and then uh what is it 7-3-4. 7-3-4 says, we have no problem having sex when relatives are coming to visit during the holidays.

02:16:56 - 02:16:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:16:57 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 3:

That is just something that they have to put up with if they're going to stay at our house.

02:17:00 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 5:

But you're also not going to make it known that that's what you're doing.

02:17:02 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:17:03 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 5:

Like, you're going to be quiet.

02:17:04 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

Do you think they know anyway, though?

02:17:06 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 2:

Like, how do you, like, if y'all go off, you don't think they kind of know?

02:17:09 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 3:

Don't you want to know what going off is like in our house? Nope. Hurry up.

02:17:15 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 4:

Hurry up.

02:17:16 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 5:

Hurry up. All of us just look at each other like, yeah, boy. No.

02:17:20 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say it. Kev, if you had to guess out of this entire room of people, you included, who do you think is the loudest?

02:17:30 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 2:

The loudest?

02:17:32 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 3:

The loudest. I don't know. All these people.

02:17:35 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 2:

I guess I would probably say Shannon.

02:17:38 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:17:39 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 2:

I guess, yeah. I would agree. It's absolutely Shannon. Megan seems like a lip-biter enjoyer. Oh, my God, stop.

02:17:48 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, let me ask you. With yelling and stuff like that, are you doing it because you're getting into the moment? Are you faking it, basically? No, not faking it.

02:17:58 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 4:

No, but I do. I mean, I like being loud.

02:18:01 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 3:

You do?

02:18:02 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 4:

But I can also be quiet if necessary.

02:18:04 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 3:

How do you do that? In general, your house is like what my house was like this weekend.

02:18:10 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 4:

No, but my house is an accordion house. You have to think about this. Sometimes we have two kids. Sometimes we have four kids. Sometimes we have no kids.

02:18:16 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 3:

You've got a lot of people, though. It seems like there's a lot of people at that house at all times.

02:18:21 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 5:

There's too many windows. I know those double panes are not keeping everything in.

02:18:25 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm sure there's been some butts that have been seen.

02:18:28 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 3:

Double panes. Do you think the neighbor that lives right now?

02:18:32 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 1:

She's got double panes. She doesn't have single panes windows.

02:18:34 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 3:

That neighbor that lives up against that window or the bedroom there, do you think they hear it at all? Maybe.

02:18:41 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 4:

God, I hope not. They're very, very religious people. Come on, Barbara. Barbara.

02:18:46 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 1:

hey even if you're single you're still getting screwed in many ways of your life screwed financially screwed by friends who tell you one thing then do another screwed by your employer see you can still get screwed without having sex this moment of clarity brought to you by mojo in the morning

02:19:01 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 3:

uh shannon is a very honest person if you ask her to be but what's up shannon so you guys know

02:19:09 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

that my like best guy friend in the whole entire world mikey um i just love him to pieces he was part of the morning show that i was on before i joined the mojo in the morning show um and he sent me a text and it was a picture of his face and he he is trying shorter hair and a mustache okay so a little bit different a little bit different from his normal look he's had a beard for a while and so this is just a mustache and he asked me to be honest on a scale of one to ten tell me how it looked and he wrote honest opinions only god bless you guys um i'm you guys know this i'm not much of a mustache person so he said he said be honest so i gave him a 5.5 oh damn you didn't even try to be nice he got pissed at me and i said michael you asked for

02:20:00 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 1:

Honest opinions only. But when I gave him my score, he said that he had received mostly positive responses except for me. I'm like, you can't get mad. He's actually on the phone. You can't get mad when you ask me to be honest. And I'm being honest. I'm not going to lie to you. It doesn't look that great. A five-place fuck.

02:20:20 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 2:

I want to see the picture. I want to judge you. Hang on.

02:20:22 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to send it to the group chat.

02:20:24 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, send it. What's up, Mikey? How are you, buddy?

02:20:27 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, how are you, my friend? I miss you dearly. I hope you make it all well. Decide Shannon. So, listen, she's been a friend of mine for years. I want her to be honest, and I think she's honestly trying to piss me off. I think she really likes it. Just wait till you see it. Okay, I just sent it.

02:20:47 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 2:

I just sent it. Oh, my God. Who do you look like in this one? You look like Drew Carey. Peter Griffin from Family Guy. Yeah, Peter Griffin from Family Guy.

02:20:57 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 3:

That's not very nice. I was actually going to go with, I don't know, Brad Pitt.

02:21:02 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 2:

It might also be the combo look of the shorter hair that you have there along with the stunned look on your face and the glasses too.

02:21:13 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 1:

He literally wrote, scale from one to 10, honest thoughts. I said, I'm just not a mustache guy, so I would say 5.5.

02:21:22 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 2:

By the way, are you also in your basement or where are you taking this picture? In your garage?

02:21:27 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm in the garage trying to escape my children. You know what? You know about Shannon. She acts like she's going to be honest with you, but she's just going to tell you what you want to hear or what she wants you to hear in that moment. And in that moment, she wanted to give me a 5.5 because she's a jerk face. That's the bottom line.

02:21:46 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 2:

That actually, by the way, that's the most honest I've ever seen Shannon because usually Shannon doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings.

02:21:52 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, when it comes to my feelings, she doesn't really care. And you know what? The problem is, Mojo, is she knew the years that we've worked together and been friends, she knows how tough it is for me to grow facial hair. So I was proud of the beard that I worked seven years on. And then I decided just to keep the mustache, little, you know, 1970s salute to my father, the handlebar-ish thing. And she just pooped all over it.

02:22:21 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mikey, you know what you need to do just to get back at Shannon? Show her some of the old promo pictures when you guys were the morning mess together. Oh, they're awful. There were some looks of Shannon that were pretty interesting. She has definitely had a glow up.

02:22:34 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 3:

She looked like a high school tramp is what she looked like.

02:22:37 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Only Mikey can get away with calling you a tramp.

02:22:43 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 3:

I know. I can keep going. Listen. No, we're good. Thank you, Mikey. I think the butt hats look pretty good.

02:22:52 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. Mikey, she just sent us another picture of you with a full-on beard. And I got to be honest, I think I like you better with the mustache.

02:23:01 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 3:

I know. That's what I'm trying to tell you. My wife wanted me to grow it. She thinks that I look angrier with facial hair, but I said, you told me to do this. So let's see how I rock with the mustache. And she ended up liking it. It's not like she didn't go on any rides. You know what I mean? I don't know. Michael. Michael.

02:23:20 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 2:

All right. Question for you. If somebody asks you, if somebody says to you, hey, be honest with me, you know, with you or with me, what do you think of this? Do you give them your honest opinion or do you try not to hurt them? Because you can't get offended when somebody gives you their honest opinion and you ask for it.

02:23:38 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. I would agree with you. However, I also know how Sheenan operates. She's very sweet, but she also knows how to dig at a certain person, and that certain person happened to be me. That is true, by the way. I would love for other people in the studios to pull whether I look better with a mustache, beard, or nothing at all. And I guarantee you it's a mustache.

02:24:00 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 2:

Do we have the naked face on this one here? I know what you look like. I don't know if everybody else knows what you look like without any facial hair.

02:24:05 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, like without facial hair? Yeah.

02:24:07 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

I actually thought, I wanted Mikey to, I tried to hire Mikey so many times to be on this show because I thought.

02:24:14 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I miss him so much.

02:24:15 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 2:

Not only is this guy fearless, like, he would go and do anything, but Mikey had the look of the fearless guy. Like, he was such a, he was one of those guys that, if he'd send him out on the streets to go do something, I remember Norm one time telling me a story about you.

02:24:29 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 1:

Norm is our old agent, by the way.

02:24:31 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 2:

Norm Sherratt used to tell me stories about Mikey all the time. He goes, and then he showed up at my goddamn house.

02:24:38 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

It's a really nice house, and I was hungry, and I knew he'd be mad.

02:24:41 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 2:

He would just randomly just show up. Tanisha, what's up? Tanisha, say hello to Mikey. What's going on?

02:24:47 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Shannon is a sweetheart. She was being nice with the 5.5. She probably really wanted to give him a three.

02:24:55 - 02:24:56 | Unknown:

That's true.

02:24:56 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 3:

That's true. Well, I think you need a...

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 2:

hang up on her but wait what was tell tell shannon tell everybody what mikey's name was

02:25:07 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 1:

on the morning mess it was super fat mikey but uh fat with a ph did you ever get offended by that name mikey no but the best part was all the people that would you meet along the way and they're like uh i can be honest super fat i expect you to be like 300 pounds fatter so i don't know if that's a compliment or not yeah and now he's lost a bunch

02:25:29 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 2:

of weight so he's he's not fat but yeah but and by the way let me just say this being called super fat mikey gets you laid because you you still have a lot of uh a lot of listeners that loved you so

02:25:40 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 1:

i i still have no game so it definitely benefited that's for sure it's it's so wild to hear you say

02:25:46 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 2:

that yeah my wife and my kids i'm like oh my god this man has kids yeah and like the most adorable

02:25:54 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 1:

kids yeah yeah they're they're awful i would like get rid of them right now if i could no it's they're they're great i'm surprised i'm actually a dad i'm not surprised i'm a good dad i'm just surprised to actually you know reproduce children i i just can't believe it no that's

02:26:11 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 2:

02:26:25 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

it's time for more mojo mojo in the morning i had something happen that i don't know if it's

02:26:32 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 2:

ever happened to you guys i was driving on and uh any of our waterford listeners know exactly where this is it's crescent lake road so you guys know crescent lake road over in waterford Right around Cooley Lake Road There is a weird part of it Where it just kind of turns and spins Because it's right around lakes and things in that area And I had to sneeze So bad And it's one of those sneezes That when I sneezed so bad I saw black spots After the sneeze And I sneezed really really bad Black spots Only to see a car right in front of me Just kind of slammed on their brakes to go take a turn or wait for somebody to turn and thank god i didn't get into an accident but i almost got into an accident and i could not believe the the fact that uh two seconds of a sneeze caused for me not even to realize that the car in front of me had stopped yeah but it was that bad today's one of those days you do not want that to happen to you because you got to be on high alert but what is it about a sneeze sometimes that could cause you to kind of like lose focus on what the hell you're doing. Have you guys ever had the black spot sneeze? Or should I call my doctor right now?

02:27:44 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 1:

No, I get that too. And I always worry that there's something wrong. I have. Have you guys had your blood pressure checked?

02:27:49 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 2:

Bro, I've sneezed, bro. I thought I went blind.

02:27:51 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 3:

It was like, I thought my heart stopped.

02:27:54 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was one of those ones where I looked on the actual, you know, dashboard and on the windshield to see if there was any snot or anything.

02:28:03 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if anybody's ever gotten in an accident and then said, oh, I sneezed, I'm sorry. But that can actually happen. Like, I'm sure it's a dumb excuse, but, I mean, that can be real.

02:28:13 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe, though, sometimes the distraction that you get, and it's not always from your phone and texting or doing any of that stuff.

02:28:21 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:28:21 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean, there's so many distractions that sometimes just happen in a car.

02:28:24 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I remember one time I was driving. I saw an ass so fat, almost died. Did you get black spots after it? I almost broke my neck. It was Sherelle.

02:28:39 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. By the way, nice save on that.

02:28:43 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 3:

Your sweatpants.

02:28:46 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 2:

By the way, that was not supposed to be a splat. It was supposed to be a smack. I don't know why a splat. That was not your ass, Sherelle. That was your ass. That was the one I wanted to do. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What almost caused the accident? Mojo in the morning. What's up, Jalen? How you doing? good man what's going on with you buddy sorry i'm not at work oh are you just waking up right now no no i'm sneaking oh okay sneaking sneaking into work okay all right i don't want to get caught uh yeah you had that happen to you where you uh you sneezed so hard that you actually started

02:29:28 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 1:

to seeing spots yes it's like i skipped time like i've been so hard it's it's just pure black and then like i'm somewhere else i'm like oh my goodness that was scary it's like what happened

02:29:41 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

by the way if you're found to be late to work will you get in trouble is that why you're kind of keeping it kind of low-key oh yeah how late are you I like that he's late and he's

02:30:00 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 4:

still called it Rochelle what's going on how you doing hi hi what's happening

02:30:07 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 6:

so I was parked on Main Street I live in a small town I was parked on Main Street and I was sitting in my friend's business that's right on Main Street and all of a sudden you hear just a huge crash and my car was parked right in front of the window and you just see a car come around and swung around and t-boned my car and when we went out first of all i thought the guy was dead and he wasn't but he claimed that he had sneezed and closed his eyes for too long and he ended up taking out five cars oh my god wow yeah he hit my back tire and completely t-boned me and took out two, three cars behind me and then slammed my car into the car in front of mine. See? And three of the cars were brand new cars.

02:31:01 - 02:31:07 | Speaker 4:

It's no joke. I'm telling you. It did get your distraction for just that one moment there. What's up, Patty? Hi.

02:31:08 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, guys. Morning. Similar things happened to us. So when I was in high school, so 18 years ago, my mom was picking me up one day and somebody sneezed and rear-ended us. And when the police officer showed up, they did not give him a ticket because they called it, like, an act of God. Wow. And, I mean, he totaled his car, and he had, like, these giant work boots on. And he actually ended up telling my mom he couldn't feel the brake pedal, which I think is really what happened. But, like I said, he told the officer to sneeze, and they said it's an act of God, that if something like God or a tree branch or something were to fall.

02:31:42 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I could see where you would sneeze, and you'd take your foot off of the brake or your foot.

02:31:46 - 02:31:49 | Speaker 3:

Or slam on the gas or something just by accident.

02:31:50 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 4:

Here's one. It's not a sneeze that caused the accident, and I can play the splat for it that I played for Shirelle's booty. But I almost got into an accident due to a bird poop. Ew, wow. Bird pooped literally right on their car at that moment, causing them to slide. What's up, John? How you doing?

02:32:10 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you?

02:32:11 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 4:

Fantastic, buddy. We're talking about being careful driving because they never know what's going to happen. What's happening?

02:32:17 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 5:

i wanted to say first long time listener first time caller

02:32:21 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 4:

by the way that hopefully never causes an accident where you get people riled up with that

02:32:28 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 5:

i had a friend who uh they were driving on their way to work and they ended up sneezing and you know the little yellow poles that come down from the telephone wires yes they ended up driving up one of those and flipping their car over and completely totally no way that's like a hell of a sneeze that is bad it happened at the end of my street and i saw it happen

02:32:53 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 4:

and i couldn't believe it wow that is crazy um somebody driving right now says i was just trying to call you guys and please that's why i ask you and whether that's bad don't call us up you know or don't text us call us this person ends up i almost got into an accident sending this text message to you guys as i was going to tell you that a sneeze caused an accident one time for me a text almost caused an accident trying to text into mojo on the morning show i want to hear from

02:33:20 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 3:

somebody who works in insurance i want to know if this act of god thing is like legit yeah or if like does it do anything for your deductible are you like out of it at that point there's gotta

02:33:31 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 2:

be other situations like if a beat comes into your car and yes your windows are up like what do you do like i would freak out i would swerve off the road and crash do any of you guys wear

02:33:38 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 1:

contacts yeah okay so i used to before i had lasik your eyes ever get dry enough when you're driving that when you blink a contact will actually fall out yeah yeah yep yeah or get

02:33:48 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 4:

caught on the side of my eye and i'm trying to get it out see she's got lasik uh there you go brought to you by dr yaldu as joey used to say

02:33:57 - 02:34:03 | Speaker 1:

lions coach dan campbell you want to fight doesn't matter if you have one ass cheek and

02:34:03 - 02:34:08 | Speaker 2:

three toes i will beat your ass yeah i believe you go lions this is mojo in the morning

02:34:08 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 6:

it's time for more mojo back to mojo in the morning lydia's gonna come in studio for this

02:34:15 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 4:

next topic here on the show she says that she's tired of it already and she's not gonna take it anymore she was talking to zach and i we were driving this weekend and we were in the car for a while and we were discussing you know relationships and things and lydia says that it bothers her that she only has one type of guy that hits on her and she says that she's done with it and I said to her I go you know what you need to do you need to put these words out into the universe for one of two reasons number one to get the universe to stop this or number two to get these type of guys to stop it you know and honestly if it works it works right do some manifesting yeah is that what it is it's

02:35:05 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 1:

literally manifesting well oh yeah yeah but she has to manifest the specific kind of guy that she

02:35:12 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 4:

wants i know she's got a list yeah she's lydia do you want to do quality do you want to do it from that studio so you don't have to run in here yeah can i do that yeah is it okay uh with a video and all that stuff yeah it's actually preferred that she stays there okay you you're preferred to stay

02:35:26 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 3:

there because kp said because kp's part of this topic a lot of chaos today keep out lydia we're

02:35:33 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 4:

keeping you're you're being quarantined in my own studio today i haven't heard the word quarantine in a minute so who are the type of guys that uh that you say are the only guys that hit on you

02:35:46 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 2:

or like you guys over the age of 50 oh good for you what is the

02:35:51 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 3:

that's a prime age money and death you don't have to invest that much time to get his money

02:36:01 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 2:

it seems like every time i meet an older man and i'm out with my friends they come to me like i'm some magnet of some sort but when it comes down to my friends they are all attracting the younger men including kp oh man don't move me into this what is it about you do you think i think that i just might be looking older? No, you're not. Well, according to Mojo, actually, that's why I should say that. No, no, no. Mojo said, and he, no, don't, mm-mm. Okay, go ahead. No, no, no. When we were in the car, he said, well, when you were wearing makeup, you look, you know.

02:36:38 - 02:36:43 | Speaker 3:

Wait. You told me to get Botox today, and you're telling her that she looks younger with makeup on. Are you

02:36:43 - 02:36:47 | Speaker 4:

trying to die? I said she looks, it makes her look

02:36:47 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 2:

more mature. I have asked. I said mature. Well, that came after because older men have told me that they like my personality and they like how mature I am for my age.

02:36:58 - 02:37:02 | Speaker 4:

Tell everybody, yeah, tell everybody the line that these old guys use with you all the time.

02:37:02 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 2:

You're so mature.

02:37:04 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 4:

You're so mature for your age. By the way, that is a guy that is my age's way of saying, I shouldn't be hitting on you because you are too young, but I'm going to say this because I'm going to make you feel special that you actually can have a conversation and know who Bon Jovi is. There is someone

02:37:23 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 2:

that we know who's way older than me that told my mom that he would have put a ring on my finger in a heartbeat had I been his age. And he's about 25 years older. Why would you say that to your mom? That's so

02:37:35 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 4:

creepy. What did your mom say? My mom was

02:37:37 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 2:

like, oh, that's really nice. Like, she actually thinks that it's a flattering thing to say.

02:37:42 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 4:

Actually, can I tell you something that's interesting about the uh chaldeonian uh culture victor's dad calls them calls chaldeans chaldeonian um so what about the chaldeans is that i can sense that your dad and mom would have no problem with some old dude hitting on you where majority of parents would be running them away that's

02:38:05 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 2:

because my dad is 12 years older than my mom so of course he's going to give that blessing are we Are you on dating apps right now?

02:38:12 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 1:

No, not at the moment. So what is your range? What's the oldest that you would want to go? 36. Okay. And you are how old again? 27. Yeah.

02:38:21 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 4:

By the way, any guy that is over 50 years old, even though it's a dream come true to have a 27-year-old girl, like, you know, most guys that I know that go through a divorce, even I thought this when Chelsea and I were going through struggles, I was like, man, I am definitely going to date a 20-something-year-old just to say I did it and I would do it and I would sit there at the table and everybody would go is that your son's girlfriend you know I mean it would be like one of those type of things but any guy that thinks that a relationship like that is going to work you're crazy you're absolutely nuts and I'm speaking from a guy that literally is a 54 year old guy that looks at my buddies and go what are you doing like it's nuts and in I don't know what you're looking for I don't know if you're thinking the sex is going to be better or if you're thinking when you need your ass wiped you're gonna have somebody there that's gonna wipe your ass you know and that's what a 27 year old has to think about when they're with a guy that that that is that age yeah but if

02:39:18 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 3:

a 27 year old wants to date somebody that old you better have the money to pay somebody to wipe your ass because they're not gonna do it that is true that is true got the money though that's my point

02:39:28 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

that's when they get these girls all right so so we're putting this out in the universe and we're also putting it out to the guys lydia is tired of this it's time for guys that are her age to start looking at her and stop thinking that only the old guys are talking to her. So no more of this anymore. Oh, my God, I'm looking at the call screen here. All these guys. But Lydia, you are so beautiful and you are mature for your age. Lydia, it's because you're so smart, and that's the reason why these guys are.

02:40:00 - 02:40:04 | Speaker 2:

Finally looking for somebody smart. Oh, Christ. Who are these people? They're all dudes.

02:40:05 - 02:40:07 | Unknown:

Of course they are. Oh, my God.

02:40:07 - 02:40:14 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, how old was, like, the oldest guy that you've ever dated so far? 28. Okay. Yeah.

02:40:14 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 2:

Hey, maybe this is your problem. Maybe you need to hang out with your mom's inner friends. Like, you need to hang out with older women.

02:40:21 - 02:40:24 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean? They're all hanging out with older guys.

02:40:24 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 2:

Because she says that when she hangs out with KP and her other friends that are her own age, all the guys their age go for them and maybe she needs to maybe she's hanging out with too many people her own age. She needs to hang out with older dudes or younger girls. I don't know. Maybe you need to see if there's any kids that are, you know, in high school that are looking for a friend or something. You need to change up your friends a little bit.

02:40:48 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 4:

Not happening.

02:40:51 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 2:

Hold on a second. Let me grab some of these calls. Do you mind if I just pick up? I'm going to do it. Hold on. Hi, Mojo in the morning. Are you an old man? no this is tom hey tom tom you are an old man how old are you tom i'm 61

02:41:06 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 5:

come on tom tom what about 30 year olds no no no no no my wife is beautiful and i'm not doing it but if you're 54 years old and let's say you're dating a 30 year old and you conceive a child So that means you're going to be, when the kid's 20 and getting out of college or whatever, going to college, you're going to be 74? Yeah, these guys. They'd be like, oh, did you bring your grandpa in here?

02:41:35 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 2:

You know what? You should see what it's like already at Parents Weekend for me. I'm so out of shape having to walk campus in East Lansing. I can't imagine 70-plus-year-old man. The only good thing is you'd get all the handicapped parking, I guess. You'd be okay.

02:41:47 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 5:

I guess that's a benefit.

02:41:50 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 2:

Tom, do you know any guys that are in their 20s at all? Do you have, like, family members or anything like that? Can you tell them that Lydia is beautiful and she is ready to date?

02:42:05 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 4:

And not interested in your friends.

02:42:07 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, she has to pick her own. You know, that's a love relationship that you've got to build. It's not going to just happen on its own.

02:42:14 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, why not?

02:42:16 - 02:42:25 | Speaker 5:

Tom. That's why she... Because it's something you've got to work at. I got married when I was young like Mojo. I was 26 and my wife was 23.

02:42:25 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 2:

We're lucky, buddy.

02:42:26 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 5:

And we stayed together other 12 times.

02:42:28 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:42:28 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she's a good girl.

02:42:29 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 2:

I got lucky with it. We're blessed. We're both blessed. What's up, Gabby? How you doing?

02:42:34 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 4:

Morning.

02:42:35 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Gabby. What's going on?

02:42:39 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 4:

I was calling because I was married to someone 15 years older than me. I met him when I was 23. And I have the same issue. I always hit on my older men.

02:42:50 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do the math for me. You're 23. He was 15 years older, so he was what? Near 50? Not 50 yet, though, right?

02:42:58 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 3:

38.

02:42:59 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, 38. So that's not horrible. Like, that's actually way better. Lydia, are you okay with that? Are you okay? Could you date Lydia a guy that's in his, like, mid-30s?

02:43:11 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's fine. She said 36 was her.

02:43:13 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So that's, yeah. Gabby, why did you guys not last? What happened?

02:43:19 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 4:

oh there were other reasons but i think in general i don't know what it is about older men and and why they're attracted to the younger woman because you don't know what it is all porn please yeah

02:43:31 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 2:

please come on we know what it is which you know what it is we're trying we're trying to as guys i think guys look at it and they think okay look at this girl it's like you know she's hot young thing whatever and then i also think that uh they're trying not to uh they're trying to put off menopause or something i don't know they're trying not to have to deal with that i don't know it's not gonna help yeah it does happen younger and younger what's up chelsea how you

02:43:58 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 3:

doing uh it's kelsey but oh kelsey i'm sorry i kind of you're good i've kind of got it roles reverse uh i'm 26 and my boyfriend's 38 but it's better because he takes care of me then

02:44:12 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 2:

oh okay so you say lydia don't knock it till you try it you'll actually have somebody there to take

02:44:21 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 3:

care of you oh it's the best i swear like you don't ever have to worry about anything no responsibilities they're already used to taking care of responsibilities like yeah but again that

02:44:31 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 1:

age difference isn't so crazy to me in lydia's case these men are double her age yeah i mean to See, there's a difference to me. Like, for you guys, it's 20s and 30s. This is 20s and 50s.

02:44:45 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 2:

You know who ruined it? Anna Nicole Smith was the one that ruined it.

02:44:48 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 1:

Ruined it?

02:44:48 - 02:44:49 | Speaker 2:

She ruined it for a minute.

02:44:49 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 1:

I wouldn't say ruined it.

02:44:50 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 2:

She had that old, old, old dude.

02:44:52 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 1:

Set the bar. That's how I would describe it.

02:44:54 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 2:

Alyssa, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about how all the old guys like Lydia. I don't think there's a problem with it. My fiance is 52 and I'm 34 and we have a great relationship.

02:45:06 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:45:07 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a great time.

02:45:09 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 1:

You're not worried about him getting sick one day and you having to care for him?

02:45:13 - 02:45:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm totally fine with it. He takes care of me right now.

02:45:16 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 1:

Really? You'd be willing to wipe that booty?

02:45:19 - 02:45:20 | Speaker 2:

I would, absolutely.

02:45:21 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 1:

I want you to look at that booty. First off, my wife is only three and a half years difference than I am. And my wife, when I got sick, bought me a washlet for our toilet because she wasn't willing to wash my booty.

02:45:33 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 2:

But can I ask her a question? Does he have a lot of money in the bank? I wouldn't say he has a lot of money in the bank, but he has enough.

02:45:42 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, enough for her.

02:45:43 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 2:

Enough is the rich way of saying a lot of money.

02:45:47 - 02:45:48 | Speaker 1:

Ronnie, what's up, Ronnie?

02:45:49 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up?

02:45:51 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 1:

Turn your radio down, Ronnie.

02:45:53 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 3:

What did you say?

02:45:55 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 1:

What did you say?

02:45:56 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 3:

No, I said long time, long time. Oh, I love it.

02:46:01 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 1:

I love it. There you go. What's going on, Ronnie?

02:46:05 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm 60, and my wife is 29, and I got a 3-year-old and a 60-year-old.

02:46:15 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 1:

Holy crap. Are you serious? Let's go. Oh, my God.

02:46:18 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 3:

I'm serious.

02:46:19 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 1:

Let me ask you, what's it like to be a 60-year-old guy with a 29-year-old vagina?

02:46:24 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 3:

You know, you've got to maintain, man, you know, because...

02:46:34 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 1:

How many blue pills do you have to take?

02:46:36 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 3:

What's that?

02:46:37 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 1:

How many blue pills do you have to take in order to maintain?

02:46:40 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 3:

I don't take any, man. I don't take any.

02:46:43 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:46:44 - 02:46:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. I'm stuck in my 30s, man. And I quit having birthdays after that.

02:46:55 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Question for you, Ronnie. Do you have any friends your age that are wealthy that would like to date Lydia? Because she's looking for maybe another couple friend.

02:47:06 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 3:

I lived in the Philippines for four years. Oh, geez. And she's a Philippine.

02:47:11 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. Okay.

02:47:12 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 3:

And all my friends over there are my age, and they all have, you know, 30-year-old wives and kids. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. And we're all, like, resort, bar, or restaurant owners, you know? So we – it could be more our wallets than, you know, our looks. But, you know –

02:47:50 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 1:

But you're okay with it.

02:47:51 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 3:

Like, yeah, yeah. I mean, Filipino women are hot. Okay. And they're like 50 to 1 over there, you know?

02:48:03 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, Ronnie, I could talk to you all day, Ronnie. but I'm trying to find Lydia somebody her age. I'm not, I don't know if I, you know.

02:48:13 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 3:

Do you have a son?

02:48:14 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a son?

02:48:16 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 3:

I have a three-year-old and a six-year-old.

02:48:18 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 1:

That's all he's got. You didn't have any kids earlier than that?

02:48:22 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 3:

Nope, nope.

02:48:23 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 1:

Okay, because I love these guys that are your age that are dating girls that are 29, and they have kids that are 29.

02:48:30 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know. I probably should have kids that age, But most people my age have grandkids.

02:48:39 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Well, Ronnie, it was nice to talk to you. And please tell your Filipino wife that we said hello, okay?

02:48:45 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 3:

All right. I'll do that.

02:48:46 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 1:

All right. How dare you? She got him to listen to the show. What's up, Smith? How you doing?

02:48:53 - 02:48:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi. How are you guys doing? Oh, my God. It's been a minute, Smith. How are you?

02:48:57 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

02:48:59 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 2:

Fine. Okay. So, first of all, that's why she doesn't want to date anybody in their 50s. Because look how that man was just talking. Yeah, I got a 56.

02:49:08 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 1:

Huh? Huh?

02:49:09 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 2:

What kind of conversation is that?

02:49:14 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Please protect our Lydia. Will you please tell these guys to stay away from her?

02:49:20 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, guess what? She doesn't want you guys to stay away. She only wants 30 and under. No, what, 30 to 25. There we go. 30 to 25. No more than that.

02:49:31 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 1:

All right. Thanks, Smith. What's up, Evelyn?

02:49:33 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

hi good morning how you doing mojo good morning guys good morning what's going on so listen that last caller just had me in the car cracking up uh he said that he got his wife from the philippines did he get him a ready-made ride you know the answer yeah yeah because he sounded like he was a little tipsy yeah he took the paint out of y'all but decided drinking this morning. Yeah.

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Evelyn. We appreciate it. All right. Take care of yourself.

02:50:05 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 3:

You too.

02:50:06 - 02:50:21 | Speaker 4:

Bye. All right. I feel like we accomplished nothing with that topic for Lydia. I thought this was going to be a good thing for her to be able to put it out there in the universe. Instead, we got a new misfit. His name is Ronnie, the 60-year-old listener.

02:50:21 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 1:

Our lovely Lydia. She's the angel of the show. But every now and then, a chick's got to shake some brazy ass, right?

02:50:28 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm shaking some breezy ass.

02:50:31 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. I want to bring something up here right now. So I went out and partied over the weekend, got a little bit drunk, and I want to ask this question and see if you guys have an answer for me.

02:50:41 - 02:50:41 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:50:42 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 4:

Can you explain to me why some straight people turn gay when they drink? I got hit on by a married guy this weekend, and I think it was like full-on hit on. Like I was like one of those things where I felt like the guy was the guy was really enjoying me. I don't know what the story was, but it only seems to happen to me that I get hit on by straight guys or guys that I thought thought that were straight married guys. And it's usually when they're drunk and somebody needs to explain this to me because I know that there are a lot of women that this happens to where women become by when they have a lot of cocktails. and I want to know what is it about that happening. And maybe I'm lending myself to this because maybe I become more feminine or something when I'm drinking. I don't know what it is. Like even holding my hand, I'm like, what is going on here right now? But when I get drunk or I'm out, I have guys that will hit on me. Explain this to me.

02:51:50 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

It's literally just a drinking thing. you don't think that they're, like, on the DL type of guys? I don't know. Okay.

02:51:55 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea. Listen, I'm flattered by it. I actually am very flattered. It's nice to have somebody actually pay attention to you. Give me an example because are they acting the same and then you're just drunk so you're picking it up more? Beginning of the night, we're not drinking, okay, or we're not drunk. We're just drinking. We're all hanging out. Everything's cool. We're high-fiving each other. End of the night, I'm getting hugged and groped and stuff.

02:52:19 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 2:

I had a guy friend who was like this. I don't want to say his name. I have a guy friend.

02:52:23 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 4:

He's still with us. And tell me if he does this, when he does this. At the beginning of the night, everything is good. At the end of the night, he's cupping my private parts. I mean, there's something. No, I'm just kidding. No, does he do that at all? Wait, you just nodded your head yes.

02:52:38 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 2:

He really, the way he talked changed. The way he interacted with other guys changed. They call them spirits. He would talk to you about dreams that he's had about other guys. and I'm like, I don't know if this is the alcohol. The spirits will take over. Maybe this is you and you're just too afraid when you're sober to be the man that you are, period.

02:53:04 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 4:

Wow. I don't know. I'm gay now. Wow. I don't know what it is, but it has happened to me a couple of times over the course of the last few months where I'll go out, we'll drink, we'll have fun, and then at the end of the night, I got guys wrapping their arms around me

02:53:21 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? Although I will say I feel like Girls or maybe I'm just speaking for myself But I feel like girls who Like tend to get a little touchy Touchier feelier If they drink a little bit is just me You know that's me. I have never once been Groped by you. No I don't grope But I'm saying I get very

02:53:38 - 02:53:44 | Speaker 4:

Girls like to kiss. Maybe Girls make out I feel like girls are more

02:53:44 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 3:

No we're lovey. We're touchier We're more like we appreciate you And I also think some of it is, I'll protect you from these creepy dudes at this bar by hanging all over you so they can't.

02:53:53 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 4:

What about the creepy guys that are hitting on their friends? Is this the same person?

02:53:57 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, we don't have to worry about them at that point. Is this the same person that's doing this to you?

02:54:02 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 4:

No, it's different. It's totally different. I had one guy one time, we're literally sitting at a bar. This is no joke. We're at a bar. We're sitting there. And every five seconds, he kept grabbing my leg. Like, he would talk to me, and he would go, yeah, you know what I'm talking about? And he would grab my leg. At first, when he's like grabbing my, he would grab like right above my kneecap. And after he grabbed me right above my kneecap the first time, I was a little startled. I was like, oh, okay. Well, that kind of feels okay. And then I stop. And next thing I know, the hand's lingering there. Like it's not slapping me anymore. It's now holding on.

02:54:36 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:54:36 - 02:54:51 | Speaker 4:

And it made me feel weird. Maybe he was just trying to sit upstream. This weekend, it was hugging. It was like hugging and cuddling. And I have been told that I would be a great, you know, gay person's beer. Okay. A bear. A bear.

02:54:51 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 3:

What is that?

02:54:52 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 4:

Like the big, the fat guy in the relationship. The big hairy guy. I'm the bear.

02:54:57 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they have cubs that are guys that are just a little overweight. Yeah, a little bit younger, a little bit less hairy. Can't be trimmed up in that beard.

02:55:04 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 4:

Kev, you could be a bear. I'm going to let you be the... Do you.

02:55:10 - 02:55:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Hi, Jessica. How are you?

02:55:20 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good. How are you?

02:55:21 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 2:

Good. Explain this to me. Why is it that when guys drink, even girls, when they drink, all of a sudden, they they go from being heterosexual to bisexual mojo my mom always raised me to know that

02:55:35 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 1:

a drunk mind reveals a sober heart so i believe that people who kind of lean towards that already it just comes out when they're drunk i had a an ex who was um i thought completely straight but when he would get drunk he would start talking about how hot certain guys were and um he insisted you know that he was straight but i don't know he started talking about dudes more often when he was drinking and i think i like wiener in the closet yeah that so maybe so do you think it

02:56:05 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 2:

brings them out of the closet when they're drinking could the guy just come out of the

02:56:10 - 02:56:25 | Speaker 1:

closet please i think so i feel like i mean i'm 100 straight if i drink i will not exhibit any type of um gay behavior but uh if some people are they might you know that's just the way i feel

02:56:25 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 2:

about it hold on a second this text is great one seven three four goes it's not gay it's homie sexual okay i like that i like that this other text is a great one too three one three says kev's not a bear he's a cub do you think these guys would take it there if you allowed it to go

02:56:46 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 4:

further uh i i don't know are you comfortable playing the role i i honestly could make be

02:56:53 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 2:

quite honest with you yeah i wasn't attracted to them if i was attracted to him i don't know like if it's tom if it's tom brady you know maybe i take my clothes off for him i don't know how committed to this bit are you i'm not but i but it does it does find i find it interesting women women do this a lot and i don't know jessica are you this way when you're out with your girlfriends or maybe you have girlfriends are like this you girls kiss other girls when they're drinking and they won't do it if they're sober like you don't see a girl start oh that's all that next thing you know they're making out when at the beginning of the night it's at the

02:57:30 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 1:

end of the night that that happens right yeah I've seen it happen my friends are like that but I can't I just can't do it I can't bring myself to do it and I have nothing against it but it is not my thing. And so like, I'm not like that. So I 100% know that it has to be, you have to have some sort of open mindedness to it that I just don't have. Yeah. I think what ends up happening

02:57:52 - 02:58:41 | Speaker 2:

is what you're talking about. You can't bring yourself to it. I think that there's, there's no attraction there. So you don't find yourself wanting to do it. But I do think that the other thing is if you're so drunk, you're wondering what did you do at the end of the night? You know what i mean like your inhibitions your sexual inhibitions definitely come into play like when you're drinking like no offense is that what you're saying no offense to to women who are maybe not incredibly gorgeous but sometimes i actually find everybody in the bar beautiful i do drunk goggles are real thing i mean i like i see sixes turn to eights i see girls that are at the bar that at the beginning of the night had no interest at all in at the end of the night uh you know i'm i'm you know let's go like hey whatever you know one of those type

02:58:41 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 3:

of things so all right well thank you meet me in the bathroom you ever had sex in the bathroom

02:58:47 - 02:58:52 | Speaker 2:

at a club have you really have a restaurant restaurants for sure you've done this kev

02:58:52 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 3:

yeah i've had some times in my life like where are we talking what kind of places what kind of Um, Cosmos On Woodward Comos

02:59:00 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 5:

Wait a second, isn't Comos also

02:59:08 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 2:

A gay hang too?

02:59:10 - 02:59:24 | Speaker 5:

Uh, I mean, yeah Yes and no It's a gay fave But they also have great pizza Even if you're straight, you're allowed to go there That's a gay place? I didn't know, I didn't wait for the pizza

02:59:24 - 02:59:40 | Speaker 2:

And then I took my shirt off Chill out Textures by the way that are texting in All these people don't want to pick up our phone calls Because they said that they're too embarrassed That their friends will hear them right now

02:59:40 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 1:

That cannot be real

02:59:43 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 5:

No I think it's real

02:59:45 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 4:

Wait which one

02:59:46 - 02:59:51 | Speaker 5:

The 313 The guy who says he craves penis Body straight

02:59:51 - 02:59:55 | Speaker 2:

The boy used the word You can't read it. Is this 313?

02:59:55 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 5:

You can't read that, can you?

02:59:57 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 2:

My whole 35 years of his life.

03:00:00 - 03:00:01 | Speaker 9:

Maybe you can. You can.

03:00:01 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 7:

I've not acted on it, but I have a major craving, but I'm scared to act on it sometimes because I don't know how it would actually feel. Okay. Go live your life, man. But it's only when he drinks, though. That's the thing. It's only when he drinks that it happens.

03:00:17 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 6:

It comes from somewhere, man. I feel like if you're doing that, you have an emotion that's lying dormant, and the alcohol is just unlocking what's already inside of you. It's not like it's just coming from out of nowhere.

03:00:29 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 9:

somebody just texted in sexuality is a spectrum and we're all on it somewhere and i really do believe that it is a spectrum absolutely you're not you know it's it's yeah you know what it's not it's not clear cut like i am this or i am this like yes you are but i do i do believe that that sexuality is a spectrum like the the girl who's like i am 100 straight i mean i would say that same thing but i've always i've also found girls attractive before so technically i'm not 100

03:01:00 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 7:

straight do you know what it's like i don't know but does that not make you straight because you find them attractive are you going to act upon that attraction right yeah but that's what i'm saying it's a spectrum we got to go because kevin and i are going to como's we'll be right back

03:01:15 - 03:01:21 | Speaker 5:
