good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show it is cold outside oh my god colder than a witch's titty yeah we got uh temperatures this morning that are single digits wind chills lower than that snow in west michigan and it's coming our way Good morning. Thank you for being here today. We have phone scam senseless surveys all coming up this morning on the show. A chance for you to see Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran. You got to keep listening to when first opportunity comes up right before we do the dirty. It's Mojo Spike. Shannon out sick again this morning. Megan is in for her. Mike. Reese. KP. Lydia and Katie. It's the Mojo in the Morning Show. 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM, and flagship right here in Detroit, Channel 955. It's good to have you guys here with us today. Mike and Megan were both in studio today, or yesterday, and Mike left behind something very important to him that we are going through at this very moment. We're doing a forensics on it at this moment to find out who has more nasty stuff in their laptop, Mike or Hunter Biden. Will it be our show member here today that will be the new scandal of leaving behind your laptop? How do you leave behind a laptop? Explain that to me.

00:04:40 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the thing. I had to run out the door yesterday to try to make a meeting on time. and the weight of my laptop bag felt right and i swear i packed it up it was sitting all packed up over in the in the corner when i went to go grab it and i ran out the door and were you stealing items

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 4:

from the studios, and that's what made the weight feel right.

00:05:02 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 3:

What do you have in that bag? I have everything in that bag. Everything that I carry to work every single day is in that bag. But then, you know what the funny part is, too, is I had to come back to the station to get those shoes yesterday.

00:05:14 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's right. The shoes that my wife Chelsea was giving your wife Allie?

00:05:18 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So you came back in the room,

00:05:20 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 5:

and you still didn't notice your laptop was sitting here.

00:05:23 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 3:

Nope, nope, not even a little bit. Nope.

00:05:25 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 4:

It's funny. I leave my phone behind a lot. You know, like here I've gone downstairs Actually, you know what the worst is? And a day like today is the worst When you leave your keys You ever had that happen to you before? Like you put your keys down somewhere Well, keys you can't get far Well, that's the thing You get outside and you're like Because the phone and the keys, you need Like a laptop, I leave behind

00:05:46 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 5:

Phone, I will drive back eight hours I'll have to, you know, trace back my steps To go back to my phone

00:05:52 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 7:

You guys still have severe anxiety Where you check for your wallet, your ID, your keys your phone every 10 seconds?

00:05:59 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I do. It looks like I'm feeling myself up. Constantly checking my pockets.

00:06:03 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 4:

My problem is I'm not angry that my phone's back in the studio. I'm angry that I have to walk the stairs again. Yes. I don't want to have to do the exercise. I get it. So, Mike, do you want us to FedEx it back to you or is there a courier service or something?

00:06:22 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was going to ask that, but if that's a pain in the ass, then I'm just going to drive back out there. No, no, no.

00:06:28 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

You're not driving all the way back here. We've got to figure it out. Maybe we meet you halfway or something like that.

00:06:34 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 6:

I can really FedEx it if you want me to.

00:06:37 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

Or FedEx it. What would it cost to overnight from Farmington Hills, Michigan to Grand Rapids, Michigan?

00:06:45 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 6:

I think I get a discount because I have the iHeart account.

00:06:48 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 4:

Actually, technically, isn't it discounted completely because they just pay for it and we don't tell them? We tell them it's like a business deal?

00:06:55 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, something like that.

00:06:57 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 4:

Is there anybody, wait, is there anybody that is driving from Detroit to Grand Rapids today that we can trust with Mike's laptop? And maybe we can do it that way. Maybe there's somebody that will help you.

00:07:10 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 3:

Is it password protected? I think so.

00:07:13 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think so. What do you have in there? What would be the, are there financial stuff in there? Like, do you do your home stuff on there?

00:07:22 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 3:

I've done everything on there. So there's, I mean, it doesn't matter It's DJ stuff, there's DJ stuff on there There's pictures of my family I attempted to do my taxes Once on TurboTax And I didn't do it right, so I had to take it in anyways There's Your DJ music alone

00:07:40 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

Would be the thing I would want

00:07:41 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it's worth money It's definitely worth money Just a warning, if you do take it, the Z button doesn't work on it So you can't do anything Really? One of the keys is out? Yeah, I have to copy if I have to use the letter Z. I Google letters of the alphabet and then copy and paste it.

00:07:58 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 6:

Shut up.

00:08:00 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

It hasn't been updated. You know how those updates pop up every time you open your laptop?

00:08:05 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God, really? Yeah. Nobody's going to steal it now.

00:08:11 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's basically a paperweight.

00:08:13 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's a doorstop.

00:08:15 - 00:08:23 | Speaker 4:

Basically, it's you carrying a, like, I don't know, a brick to go to Grand Rapids.

00:08:23 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but do you remember the other day I said there were all those Google searches I wanted to do, but I didn't want the history to come back to me? I got to break into this computer.

00:08:33 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Jen might be able to help. Hi, Jen. What's going on?

00:08:37 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 1:

I said I would totally help him out. I drive to Kalamazoo three nights a week anyway. It's like from Detroit to Kalamazoo and back. So if that was near it.

00:08:45 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 5:

It's still a little bit of a hike from Kalamazoo to GR, though. Oh, it's actually going to work with that. Yeah, it's a little bit. Another 30, 40 minutes to get to his office.

00:08:53 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Here's the thing. Here's the thing. I think there's got to be somebody out there. There's somebody there that does it. There's got to be somebody from our office, from iHeart, that has to go out there. Or maybe he's doing a meeting.

00:09:05 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

They can intern do it.

00:09:06 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. They can intern do it. Yeah. Yeah. If we had interns. If we had interns. Back in the day, no joke, that would have been the easiest call. We wouldn't even have talked about this on the air. They would have already been on the road, and that would have been their adventure today, taking the station vehicle and driving all the way to drop us off for Mike.

00:09:25 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's what 586 is suggesting. They said, just for show fun, we should send Reese to Grand Rapids, but with only a paper map and no phone to see if he makes it.

00:09:34 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 6:

Okay, that's really funny.

00:09:36 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 4:

Derek, what's going on?

00:09:38 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

Hey, morning, Mojo. I was hearing you guys needed Mike needed some rescuing For his laptop Live in Grand Rapids Working in Lake Orient Southfield today So if he needs help

00:09:51 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 4:

Wow that's amazing

00:09:54 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 2:

How often do you have to do that commute? I do it about four times a week Oh my god Holy cow. I'm in quality water, the reverse osmosis for hospitals, kidney dials, pharmaceuticals.

00:10:11 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 4:

There's no way you can lease a car because your miles probably go over.

00:10:16 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 2:

I have a 2019 box truck, and I have over 145,000 miles. I've only had it for a year and a half.

00:10:22 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 1:

But he said he works in quality, and my dad does that too, so I know you don't have a real job.

00:10:30 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how do we know we could trust you, Derek, aside from that?

00:10:36 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 2:

Because I'm a man of my word.

00:10:38 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Well, he was kind of convincing. I don't know. I got that. All right, done.

00:10:44 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

Find my laptop or whatever. Yeah. Find your whatever. Somebody just texted us from 517 saying they have a CD that you could throw inside someone's laptop. It'll crack their password in minutes. Oh, God. Isn't that scary?

00:10:56 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 2:

Trust me, I'm not no computer savvy.

00:11:01 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 4:

My laptop's so old, you could put a floppy disk in it right now. You know what? If you'd be willing to do this, that would be very kind of you. I don't know how. It would be. What time would you be getting back to Grand Rapids tonight?

00:11:16 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm leaving right now. I've got to go to Spectrum first down in Grand Rapids, and then I've got to head over to Lansing, then Southfield.

00:11:25 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. Well, it's perfect. If you're leaving Spectrum Health, it's right down the street from the radio station.

00:11:31 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I just got to drop all the tanks up. But, yeah, I have no problem coming to get it.

00:11:36 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Mike, would you invite Derek over for dinner as a thank you? Would you set an extra place at the table tonight, maybe? Yeah, absolutely. What's for dinner in the Aguilar household? In the Aguilar household. It's whatever he wants. If he genuinely brings it back, I'll get a little...

00:11:57 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 2:

I would do that, Mike. I would do that for you, man. I listen to you guys every single morning. What a guy. I've been so happy since you guys started broadcasting over here in Grand Rapids. That's awesome. I love you. What a guy. I grew up in Oxford, so...

00:12:12 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, nice. So you're from the Detroit area, and then when we spread across to Grand Rapids and Toledo, you know, that's cool. We got a lot of people. Yeah, all right. Well, hold on one second. And KP is going to get your information. And if Mike feels comfortable, Mike, talk to KP. But it actually could be kind of fun to see if it actually does make it there.

00:12:32 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 3:

Well, you might even make it there before the end of our broadcast this morning.

00:12:35 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 4:

And it sounds like the thing's worth nothing. And if anything, Mike, then we file a claim against our work insurance here.

00:12:43 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, not insurance. As soon as Derek picks it up, I'm reporting it's stolen.

00:12:51 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, Derek.

00:12:53 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, not a problem, man. As long as I can help out. Take care, buddy. We'll see you. I love our listeners. Thank you.

00:12:58 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 4:

Seriously. Now, is there anybody that will go to Chicago and get me a Giordano's pizza?

00:13:04 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 1:

A little Portillo shake, please.

00:13:06 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys ever do that at all? Like, where you have somebody that is traveling somewhere, like going, you know, on a road trip somewhere, and you'll say to them, hey, can you do me a favor? Can you go pick up, you know, some food and bring it back? Yes. Like before Portillo's came, and now we have one on the east side of town here, off of Hall Road in the Detroit area. The closest one to us was Fort Wayne, Indiana, and my buddy was in medical sales, and he would go to Fort Wayne like once a week. So he would call Chelsea and I and say, do you guys want us to bring back beef sandwiches?

00:13:39 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

That's a good friend.

00:13:40 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 1:

Anytime anybody went to Columbus, they had to bring me back Raisin Cane's before I came to Toledo. That was like a necessity before I would talk to you again. For sure. Or do you guys have mellow mushrooms?

00:13:52 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 4:

Not here, no.

00:13:53 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, anytime anybody's near a mellow mushroom, I ask them to bring me that one.

00:13:56 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 4:

That sounds like an illicit drug.

00:13:58 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, if you've been inside of one, it feels like it. But it's a pizza place. It's really good.

00:14:03 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 3:

So I'll always offer to be nice when I'm going to a town like, oh, do you need anything from Detroit? I don't expect anybody to actually. Like, I said that to some friends in L.A. before I flew out there two weeks ago. But, like, when I went to visit my friend Bobby on the East Coast over Christmas, I said, do you need anything? thinking like oh maybe i don't know maybe you'll want like a made in detroit hoodie or something it's like well there's this little sausage shop down river called dave sausage they make these breakfast links that are the greatest thing i've ever had if you can get a cooler packet free and he like gave me all the instructions and i googled it i was like oh crap like i'm getting on a plane and he's like i'm not gonna see you for two days now i gotta keep the sausage cold

00:14:41 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

i googled him back i said i'll mail you some what my friends used to always want cores before Coors was actually like all over the country like Coors beer was only like on the west like you couldn't cross the Mississippi and then the other beer was what was the other beer that everybody was yeah but Yingling now is everywhere right they don't is it in Michigan

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 6:

Not Michigan. It was supposed to happen two years ago, and it keeps getting delayed.

00:15:03 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that's just like, is that like a gimmick, like In-N-Out Burger, where they're not coming to certain places just to make people like it more to travel to it?

00:15:11 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 6:

Michigan only has a certain, they only allow a certain number of new distributors every year. And I feel like it's some kind of conspiracy with all the good craft beer here that they're being very slow to let the outsiders in. But it's so funny because Yingling, listen, I grew up a half hour from the original Yingling factory. It's only an average beer. And I think what gets me excited about it is I don't get it all the time. So when my buddies are – somebody's coming from Ohio, he's like, yeah, grab me another 12-pack. But it's not really – it's kind of like the Chick-fil-A phenomenon. Everybody was so excited when they finally built them here. Believe me, in five years, there'll be no longer.

00:15:46 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 5:

When I was a kid – when I was a kid, I was 20 years old. But when I was – RC Cola was, like, one of my favorites. You ever have an RC Cola? It's based out of Chicago. and we used to have that was before it was like all over the place royal crown you would see an rc cola my kids now are obsessed with rc cola and any time we go to a party store wherever and they have rc cola they're like going nuts over the stuff because it just is so like syrupy sweet

00:16:12 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 6:

when i lived in dallas dr dr pepper's headquarters there and we can all get dr pepper here but when you go to a restaurant in dallas they might have 12 flavors of dr pepper i love those fountain

00:16:23 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 5:

machines like they have at B-dubs. Five guys. Five guys also. Yeah, where you can mix and match the whole thing. All right. Well, hopefully Mike's laptop gets to him and Derek is an honest man. And if not, oh well.

00:16:42 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 7:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in 10. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:16:50 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 5:

It was the year that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield started dating after they got close on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man.

00:16:59 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 1:

She's incredibly energetic and she had this sense of play and fun, which was incredibly exciting.

00:17:07 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 5:

It was also the year that we found out that Arnold Schwarzenegger had an affair with his maid and had a teenage son.

00:17:14 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 2:

Why didn't you admit to it then?

00:17:16 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, I just did not know how to. I was just, I think, too scared about losing everything, losing her, losing the family. I just can't believe that the family just didn't see the kid and go, all right.

00:17:26 - 00:17:41 | Speaker 5:

I mean, come on. And Selena Gomez had the big song on radio. What year was it? It's a good song. We've got to play this song.

00:17:43 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 8:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. We give you clues. You tell us the year. We give you cool prizes.

00:18:00 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 5:

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield started dating after meeting on the set.

00:18:03 - 00:18:11 | Speaker 1:

She's incredibly energetic. The amazing Spider-Man. And she had this sense of play and fun, which was incredibly exciting.

00:18:11 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 5:

Arnold Schwarzenegger's affair with his maid was uncovered in this year, and he had a baby.

00:18:18 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 2:

Why did you admit to it then?

00:18:20 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, I just did not know how to. I was just, I think, too scared about losing everything, losing her, losing the family. I just didn't know how. It's not a tumor. I just always hear that in my head.

00:18:34 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 5:

And Selena Gomez had the big song. What year was it, Cheyenne? It was 2011. It was. Congratulations.

00:18:42 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

00:18:43 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 5:

What gave it away?

00:18:45 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 6:

The Selena song.

00:18:46 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, good song. Congrats to you. We're going to set you up with the prize, and I don't even know what it is. I have to remember. Oh, family four-pack of tickets to go with tickets, free skating, hot chocolate, everything you'll need to Winter Blast happening in downtown Royal Oak presented by Soaring Eagle Casino the weekend of February the 17th. Congratulations.

00:19:08 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 8:

Awesome. Thank you so much.

00:19:09 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 5:

Have a fantastic day. We're going to give some Taylor tickets away. We do have Ed Sheeran tickets next hour, but text for Taylor right now and text Taylor to 95500 for a chance to win. T-A-Y-L-O-R to win Taylor Swift tickets. Come in to Ford Field in June. Standard text and data rates do apply. Motor in the morning's Dirty on the 30. All right. Megan in again this morning for Shannon. And what's going on?

00:19:38 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

so it turns out lisa marie presley had debt at the time of her death and actually lots of it so we're talking like millions of dollars in debt here's the thing when she died her estate got tons of cash about 35 million dollars in life insurance policies and she had a couple of these out one for 25 million another for 10 million and some sources are even saying

00:20:00 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 1:

that there's another possible $10 million policy that may have expired or may be coming to her. We're not quite sure yet. Well, allegedly, Lisa Marie was about $4 million in debt at the time of her death, including $2.5 million that she owed to the IRS. The rumor is, and this is crazy, she spent about $100 million in her adult years. How?

00:20:21 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 4:

Wow. How do you even do that? I don't know. That's a lot of Chick-fil-A.

00:20:28 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's a lot of something. After her debts are paid, it's expected that the rest will be evenly divided between her living children. The twins are minors, though, so that money would go to the trust. And that's what her family is fighting over is the validity of that trust that we talked about yesterday. It was a big day yesterday for the Jonas Brothers. Yes, the brothers received their star on the Walk of Fame. And by received, I mean bought. They bought their star on the Walk of Fame. It was a pretty big day for them. Lots of celebrities were there, obviously. Priyanka Chopra, and all the wives, Sophie Turner. But another big thing we got was Nick Jonas and Priyanka introduced their one-year-old daughter, Malty, to the world. And she is so cute. Actually had a pretty rough start to her life. I don't know if you know this. She was on the NICU for about 100 days before she was able to come home, which is crazy. But the Jonas Brothers made a very big announcement, which I think was genius, because I don't think they cared about the star.

00:21:22 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 3:

We are excited to announce today that our new album, The Album, will be coming out May 5th. And we can't wait to see you on tour later this year. Thank you all so much.

00:21:42 - 00:21:46 | Speaker 1:

They bought a star to promote their new album and tour, and I kind of like it.

00:21:46 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 3:

That's how it works now.

00:21:47 - 00:21:51 | Speaker 4:

Does everybody have to pay, like even a big celebrity? Yes.

00:21:51 - 00:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it only like $30,000? I'm sorry. I hate myself for saying that. But isn't it like $35,000, which is pocket change to these celebrities?

00:22:00 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 4:

I'm shocked, though, that the Jonas Brothers didn't have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame sooner than that. Because you see some people like radio guys that have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And you're like, how does that person have it?

00:22:10 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 3:

They have a committee that will also pitch it to people. We'd like to give you a star so they can have a certain number of unveilings every year. But you still have to pay for it. So sometimes they pitch it to people. Like the Jonas Brothers, and they might be like, I'm not paying $35,000 until we need it to promote something. Which is smart. Yeah.

00:22:27 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 4:

I always thought you had to be nominated. I didn't know you had to pay for it.

00:22:32 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:22:32 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 4:

Nah. It's kind of like Scott Sands trying to pitch me on getting a cigar locker at a cigar place that he goes to. What's that place called?

00:22:39 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 2:

Same thing. Third Street Cigar.

00:22:42 - 00:22:49 | Speaker 4:

He says to me, he goes, yeah, you should get one in here. I go, Scott, I don't go to the cigar bar at all, but I also don't go to the cigar bar in Toledo.

00:22:50 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, it's in Waterville. It's out in the middle of nowhere in Toledo.

00:22:54 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 4:

I just want to use Scott Sands' cigar locker. I've got a key.

00:22:58 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 1:

I'll give you a key.

00:22:59 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 4:

He probably has a million cigars in there.

00:23:01 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 1:

He does. He does. All right. No more Little Miss Sunshine. Time to make room for Little Mrs. Sunshine. Yes. Abigail Breslin got married this past weekend. Her new husband, Ira, is from the Ukraine. And it looks like he's like a crypto investor. So if you're wondering what he does. Good luck. Exactly. She posted a wedding photo with the caption, married my best friend, which is adorable. They first started dating back in 2017, he popped the question, in February of last year. So, they're married. Congrats. Also, big congratulations to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, because he and his wife, Behati, just welcomed another baby. Their family has grown to five with the birth of their third child. We have nothing else here. No names, no genders, no nothing, but we do know that they already have two daughters. Remember, this is the same child that he tried to name after the woman he was having an affair with back in September.

00:23:56 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 3:

That's the best part.

00:23:57 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 4:

And there's still no name?

00:23:59 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 2:

No, because I wonder, because you know the whole world is going, did you name it after the affair? Did you name it after the affair? So I think they're going to keep that private for a little bit.

00:24:08 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 1:

And then a little bit of sad news. This is kind of heartbreaking. legendary. Cindy Williams, who played Shirley opposite Penny Marshall's Laverne on Laverne and Shirley has died. She died in LA at the age of 75 after a brief illness. That's the only information we got. Either you know her from Laverne and Shirley or maybe American Graffiti or The Conversation, but she had a lot of iconic roles. Check out all of today's Dirty by going to the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

00:24:35 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 3:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 and another world famous phone scan is next. today's forecast is holy crap i can't feel my face this is mojo in the morning

00:24:48 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

oh my god a listener text us in and thank you by the way the uh people from uh 810 that uh

00:25:00 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 1:

The UP right now, it is negative 16 degrees without the wind chill at this moment. Holy cow. Can I come stay with you? In the UP, you want that. Oh, yes. Ice princess. Please. Temperatures right now are five degrees for a high temperature at this moment, but the real field temperatures are definitely minus. They're well below that. So we're going to do a phone scam right now. Phone scam in Amber. So they just moved into a brand new apartment complex. And the people in the apartment office have been kind of a little weird, a little strange. So Spike got all that information to do a phone scam on her. It's Mojo in the Morning Phone Scams.

00:25:54 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hi, I'd like to speak to Amber or Doug, please. Speaking. Is this Amber or is this Doug? This is Amber. This is Sandy from the front office. You live in apartment 612, is that correct? Yes, ma'am. Do you know Carl, the property manager?

00:26:15 - 00:26:16 | Speaker 3:

Yes, ma'am.

00:26:16 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm Carl's girlfriend, and he had to run out and get some supplies, so Carl put me in charge of some phone calls tonight. Carl took me down to Applebee's for our anniversary tonight, but they didn't have a smoking section, so we didn't stay too long, on account of me not knowing where I would have put my nicotine patch on. This is the third time I stopped there at Applebee's that they didn't have their natural light, so I didn't stay long. And you shouldn't go either if you like natural light. Anyway, we have an issue in the community with the dog poops. Can I talk to you for a second about your dog? Of course. Well, someone I go to church with was telling me that your dog was the one that's the offender, because we've been finding a lot of dog poops around the common areas and the entrance and the pool.

00:27:04 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, but that's not us. That's not our dog. I mean, we do a really good job of cleaning up after him.

00:27:08 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 2:

But you do have a dog, correct? Yeah, I do have a dog. They told me the lady that goes to church with me was telling me she saw you out walking your dog.

00:27:18 - 00:27:22 | Speaker 3:

They saw a Chihuahua because I clean up after my dog.

00:27:22 - 00:27:30 | Speaker 2:

These poops are big, so I'm not so sure it's from a Chihuahua. It's got to be from a bigger dog like. What other dogs do you have?

00:27:31 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 3:

We just have the one Chihuahua.

00:27:33 - 00:27:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my heavens to Dickens. You know what I just realized? I think I left my NASCAR lighter on the bar top at Applebee's. I got to find an Uber. You like to turn up, Amber? Do I like to what? You like to turn up. Do you party?

00:27:51 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 3:

Not really.

00:27:52 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 2:

Good, because I tried to turn up once, and now I've got to blow into a tube to drive. Anyway, I guess it's not your dog, then. I'm going to make a note here on the file to tell Louise that it wasn't your dog and also to tell Carl when he comes back to the office. And are you going to be having a Super Bowl party? No. Oh, because if you want to have a party, it's okay. just keep the volume low and if you if you are let me or carl know because i can bring some butter cookies and we'll come on down well i'll let you know if i do yes you do i put some cbd oil in there it's really good but it's lights out for me at 9 p.m honey so i won't be seeing the end of that game that's fine yeah they're the same cookies i made when nigel was released on bond do you know nigel no i don't yeah he just got out on murder charges and he's clear now he's you probably met him he's the maintenance guy he's probably been in your apartment maybe you weren't home anyway i gotta get back to cooking these chimichangas for carl when he gets back he's gonna be hungry since we didn't stay at the applebee's that's why i thought i'd give you a call? Everything going well? I'm sorry? Oh, I forgot to ask you before I go. Is your dog pooping on the

00:29:15 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 3:

lawn out in the entrance or the common areas? I'm sorry, ma'am. We discussed that at the beginning of the call. It's not my dog. Me too. I guess you're confused. Why don't you give us a call

00:29:27 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 2:

back when you know what you're calling for oh okay oh is amber there this this is amber i forgot one more thing i gotta tell you this is actually spike from the mojo in the morning show and you've just been the victim of a phone scam amber you're on the morning show right now oh my god doug said there's quite some colorful characters in that apartment complex there certainly are but hopefully There's definitely no murderers. You never know do you have a Super Bowl party.

00:30:00 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 3:

we will we will scam you if i could say anything i wanted to i say that was funny right there i don't care who you are it's the home of the world famous phone scams

All right. Thanks, buddy. Appreciate it. It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55.

00:34:36 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. It is Mojo in the Morning Show. Oh, my God. It is cold outside. I looked at the temperatures throughout our listening area, and the highest temperature that you can find, non-wind chill temperature that you can find, is 6 degrees, which that 6-degree temperature was just recorded.

00:35:00 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 3:

recorded in uh pontiac michigan but the lowest wind chill temperature that you can find in our listening area right now it's even lower than what we got in west michigan is um 13 degrees

00:35:11 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 1:

in ann arbor so my lord and savior cardi b once said a hoe never gets cold so and then there's

00:35:19 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 2:

that massive ice storm moving across the country it's going to wreak more havoc as it gets closer

00:35:23 - 00:35:33 | Speaker 3:

which is weird how that one's like that that one's going to affect like more the midsection of the country and a little bit of south. I don't know if we'll get much of it in Detroit. Maybe they will where Megan lives.

00:35:33 - 00:37:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, listeners here has given away tickets to the Winter Blast in Royal Oak, which they moved because of cold weather. So when you hear the Winter Blast is being moved because of cold weather, we're going to move it to February where it's going to be warmer, they said. And I was talking to our good friend John Witts, the organizer of that, this weekend. I said, isn't it funny, like, you had to move something to February to be warmer? but they just said it's we can't risk our guests uh health because it's going to be literally too cold to stand outside for 20 minutes dangerous so and i was i was checking out their ice skating rink in in royal oak this weekend and the rink at royal oak is uh kind of it's beautiful downtown right across from city hall and the library and everything and while we were there there was a couple they were listeners they came over and said hi and i said i'm gonna talk about you guys because this is a great topic on the air asking listeners what activity did you attempt just because the person you were dating was into it or what hobby did you take up because the guy at the rink was attempting to ice skate and he's dating a girl from minnesota who was you know he was doing his best to show interest in her hobby yes and he was yelling as as she's trying to put a third pair of ice skates on his feet he's yelling my people are from the caribbean they don't do this and you know she's so used to the cold she'd like a i'm guessing she's either a professional skater or she works at a rink she had a hat on from a rink and and she's like this is what i do and he was doing his best he was a good boyfriend and that's either something that makes

00:37:11 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 3:

you look super cute or makes you look super dorky yeah and bad you know i mean like i think it makes

00:37:16 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 2:

you look cute for trying yeah i think that's awesome but it also risks you could have a big

00:37:20 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 3:

fight i dated a girl one time and had to do bowling and now i'm not saying bowling's bad because i know we got a lot of bowling fans here but i dated her one time and she was like yeah like we're really you know my family's really big on bowling would you want to fill in we're doing a family bowling night and it was like the worst thing ever because i was like a bad bowler and I'm still a bad bowler and her dad never let me live it down during the time I'm like this is not going to work out here

00:37:48 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 2:

she might give you points for participation but the rest of the team is going to be angry

00:37:52 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 3:

your first time going out with her and it's your first time going out meeting her family at a bowling family where dad is actually like really into it 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 I think that Chelsea and I when we first started dating i think we went roller skating and i can't stand up on skates and so i hung by the the wall and

00:38:17 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 1:

held the wall like the whole time yeah and doing it couple skate is so romantic not when you're

00:38:23 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 3:

holding the wall or the or the little walker the little walker thing i couldn't skate backwards so

00:38:29 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 2:

i remember in high school like i'd be working on some girl flirting with her for like the whole day and then as soon as couple skate came on i'd watch her go over to some cute guy start skating And I'm like, well, here I go back to the arcade.

00:38:40 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 3:

Ashley, what's up?

00:38:42 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo. Oh, is this Ashley? This is Ashley the skater I met. Is it really? Yes. Yep.

00:38:49 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. So, Ashley, what do you think? Do you like this guy?

00:38:55 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 1:

Of course. He is my soulmate. We've been together for two and a half years.

00:39:00 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

First of all, they are the cutest couple together. I mean, they're just adorable. But you've been together two and a half years, and he's never put on the skates before?

00:39:08 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 1:

No he has I've taken him skating like Wait he has and he looked like that

00:39:13 - 00:39:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh boy he has I was giving him the bench for the doubt

00:39:18 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 1:

Okay I do I do have to give him credit Because those skates Are very uncomfortable I have like custom I have custom figure skates that I've had for many years And we both have very bony ankles So I tried to just like give him All of my everything

00:39:36 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 3:

What does he make you do uncomfortable that you're not what does he make you do that he's really good at but you're not you know so great at because he's got to give it back to you you know and by the way keep it clean

00:39:49 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

we got kids listening sometimes sometimes drive faster than uncomfortable with oh okay all right

00:39:58 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 3:

in the bedroom Thanks, Ashley. Chloe, what's going on? We're talking about what did you do because you were interested in the person that you weren't very good at.

00:40:10 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah, so I got into fantasy football from my boyfriend. But did you stick with it? And I did. I played in a league this year, and I got second place.

00:40:24 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 8:

I got second to my boyfriend.

00:40:25 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 5:

That's so frustrating because you picked it Did you pick it off the players or did you pick it off The color of the team because they had a cool name

00:40:32 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 8:

I actually Researched and picked it off of the players I had a great team

00:40:37 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 5:

My wife did that and she picked the colors of the team And won the stupid thing

00:40:41 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 3:

But you know what In her case it was good that she came in second place Next year if she beats him Watch this guy is going to be a little bit like I don't know if I want to date this girl After that But no guy wants to get beat by somebody that's new to the game. What's going on, Kim? We're voice disguising you.

00:41:00 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 2:

So I actually took things to the extreme to be with this person. I actually started swinging because he was into that lifestyle.

00:41:08 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 3:

Ooh. Whoa.

00:41:10 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:41:11 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 3:

You became a swinger because he was into it.

00:41:15 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 2:

I became a swinger because he was into it.

00:41:18 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 4:

And are you still with that guy?

00:41:20 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:41:20 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 4:

And are you still in that lifestyle?

00:41:23 - 00:41:23 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:41:24 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

Are you not with that guy because of that lifestyle? Did you start getting interested in somebody else?

00:41:30 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 2:

No, basically because of the lifestyle and just became a whole different person.

00:41:35 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 3:

Wow. And you've got to go to church extra now, don't you, because of this?

00:41:40 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 2:

I do.

00:41:43 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 3:

Victor, what's up?

00:41:46 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 9:

Good morning, Mojo.

00:41:47 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, buddy. How you doing? We're talking about what did you do for love?

00:41:51 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 9:

I got on the ice on Saturday And Spike was giving me

00:41:55 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 3:

This is Ashley's guy They're calling us up each on a separate phone

00:42:00 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe they both got through

00:42:02 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 3:

Victor be honest she's not on the phone with us right now And I can even voice disguise you if you want How much of a pain in the ass is it To date a girl that's a skater

00:42:10 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 9:

Mojo let me tell you Every time I got to come up with a reason Why I can't get on that ice Because I wasn't brought up on the ice

00:42:18 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 4:

I think I made a mistake I said Caribbean, but you're Nigerian, right? Yeah. It's even closer to the equator. There's no way you should be on ice. But I think it's smart. She was giving you the benefit by saying, blaming it on the rental skates, which I feel like, yes, you might have been an Olympian skater if you had your own skates.

00:42:36 - 00:42:50 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you that I bet you nowadays, even in the Caribbean, they have those little ice skating rinks? Because I've gone to Arizona before to visit my wife's family, and they have them. I'm like, how is it Arizona has, like, a skating rink?

00:42:51 - 00:42:54 | Speaker 4:

Victor, what's something that you're into that maybe she should try?

00:42:56 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 9:

You know, I tried to get her into soccer, but I don't think she's quick enough. You know, but it's all good. It's all for love. I love it.

00:43:06 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 5:

I could tell he avoided trying to get on the ice when she was like, yeah, we both have bony ankles.

00:43:15 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, Victor. Nice to have you on, buddy.

00:43:19 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 1:

Also weird flex, but okay. Skinny ankles? All right, get it.

00:43:24 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 3:

Guys, don't go anywhere. When we come back here in just a couple of minutes, I got to talk about this, and don't judge me for this, but what I overheard the lady at the shoe department of Nordstrom's saying, I never thought it would be interesting to go with my wife to go get shoes. It was very interesting yesterday. We'll talk about that. Plus.

00:43:48 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 6:

Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

00:43:53 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 3:

What do you got in the dirty coming up?

00:43:55 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 1:

More officers are being relieved of duty after Tyree Nichols' death. I'll tell you what's going on in the update there coming up in the dirty.

00:44:03 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 6:

Who is seen with who? Who's banging who? And what will you be talking about all day? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes on Mojo in the Morning. I'm pretty sure I just keyed the car next to me with my nipples. Damn, it's cold. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:44:28 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Show you how exciting my life is. A lot of people think that we lead very exciting lives. yesterday i actually went to the mall with my wife just to sit in that chair that's usually the one chair off in the stores that the husbands or boyfriends sit in do you ever notice that they always have like a one chair and it's usually there's a guy sitting in the chair and um it back in the day

00:45:00 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 5:

when I lived an exciting life I hated going to the mall with my wife now if she goes to the mall and she doesn't take me with even if she's just going to return things that she ordered online I get very upset I get very sad but what are you doing while you're sitting there I usually on my phone looking at Instagram or Facebook which is stuff I could do at home yeah but at least I'm out in a public place getting

00:45:21 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 4:

to see people it's the best people watching it is the absolute because you there's other husbands there and usually you can either chat with them or you can people watch as they try to go through the shoe shopping experience with their wives when it's a bench i actually will talk to them like it's not just a

00:45:38 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 5:

chair or if it's like a whole little what looks like um living room set that they'll have there where like you can have a group of guys so she brought you yeah she brought me yeah what's good so what do you got going on you're like oh i don't know what do you think it's super bowl I don't know what's going on. And then all of a sudden, it's the, Tom, I've got to go. All right, Tom, we're out of here. It's like you were called up to the team.

00:46:01 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I'm in. Tag me in.

00:46:04 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 5:

But so yesterday, I witnessed something very interesting. So I went with her to Nordstrom's. And by the way, the shoe department at Nordstrom's is an amazing shoe department. Is it? If you're a woman.

00:46:16 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

00:46:17 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 5:

Guys' shoe department's not as exciting as the women's. The woman's one, on a weekend sometimes, they even have a loudspeaker and they go, looking for Janice now, Janice. Like, it gets sometimes crowded in there. Really? Yes. The guy's department's not like that at all. Like, they don't have their own little, you know, AV equipment that they can make announcements at. But yesterday, I'm sitting down and I'm waiting for Chelsea as she's looking at something. And I hear a woman say to the guy that was selling, it was a male guy, a salesperson, could you do me a favor? Could you tie those shoes? I'm so sorry. My boobs are too big. I cannot tie my shoes. I understand. I have never in my life ever been so happy to hear something like that. But she had such large breasts that her boobs got in the way of her tying her shoes.

00:47:15 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 3:

You wouldn't believe what the boobs get in the way of.

00:47:18 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 4:

They look like 36 Ds to me.

00:47:22 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 5:

I mean, does that happen, though? That's amazing.

00:47:24 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 3:

Yes, all of the time. I literally one time bent over so fast to put my shoes on. I ricocheted my own boobs into my face and gave myself whiplash. You got a concussion Yeah literally

00:47:40 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 5:

We're going to pull you out of the game for a while You're going under the tent

00:47:43 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 3:

My boobs will slap my knees And then jump right back up at my face

00:47:48 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay Could I do this And open it up to fellow Boob ladies out there My boobs are so big I can't do blank Would you call us up and tell us

00:48:01 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 3:

I have so many inappropriate ones We should have done this at, like, nine.

00:48:05 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 6:

Those aren't boobs. They're lies. They get in the way in the bedroom, too?

00:48:09 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 3:

No, not even that. Just, like, even shaving your legs. You tuck them under your arms, and you try to hold them down under your armpits. Oh, I didn't think about that. Yeah.

00:48:16 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Hey, man. Sometimes my big belly and my beer belly gets in the way.

00:48:23 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:48:26 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 6:

When I'm shaving my legs.

00:48:27 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 5:

Jay wants to talk about The going shopping At the mall Or shopping in the store With a chair What's going on Jay

00:48:35 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 1:

Hey Mojo Long time listener I've been listening to you guys For a long time Oh thank you But I wanted to say Like it's my wife now But when she was my girlfriend We all dating I mean my wife Every time I go shopping For undergarments With her There's always a chair Outside of Victoria's Secret Or Aries Or somewhere All the guys are sitting All the women are inside the store

00:48:56 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 5:

Yes And they're massage chairs sometimes, right?

00:48:58 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 1:

Yep, they're massage chairs. Yep, exactly. You'll notice every Victoria's Secret has a massage chair, like six sets on by.

00:49:04 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 6:

That's smart because they know as long as you'll sit, they can shop longer.

00:49:09 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. My favorite is I am – and this actually makes me feel good because it makes me feel like I'm the youngest person. I'm usually the youngest person at 12 Oaks Mall in that little area where there's the – The player? Yeah.

00:49:22 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 6:

No, not necessarily the player. Oh, the comment where all the old men are sitting.

00:49:25 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 5:

They're usually a bunch of old, like, Albanian dudes that are all hanging out there.

00:49:30 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 6:

And me.

00:49:31 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 5:

What's up, guys? How you doing? What's going on, Nicole?

00:49:35 - 00:49:37 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. How are you?

00:49:37 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 5:

We're doing great. My boobs are so big, I can't do blank.

00:49:42 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I can't get them into my sports bra when I get out of the shower. Yes. It looks like two freaking muffins. Just, like, you know, they just won't go in. into the bathroom and then he's looking at me like I'm an idiot because I'm stuck in Do you know how many times I've ended up sitting on the side of the tub with my arms stuck above my head because I cannot get my bra on? I got winded one time. My Apple Watch was like, are you working out right now?

00:50:18 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 1:

No, it's just humid. I wonder if there's anybody that's ever had to go to an orthopedic doctor or something like that because they like rotate or cuff or something like that.

00:50:30 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm sure. I had major back surgery. Like I had spinal fusion surgery. Wow. I could not wear a bra for like months because just to attempt it was like, it was like running a marathon. It was not pretty and it was not fun. Wow.

00:50:50 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 1:

Angela, thank you for the call by the way. Angela, my boobs are so big I can't.

00:50:54 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 7:

uh so i was saying that um you would probably be surprised to know that us with big boobs we

00:51:02 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 1:

cannot touch our elbows together interesting i don't think i can't oh i can't when i go to pray

00:51:09 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 2:

i gotta put them above my boots what are you praying for salvation i need it

00:51:17 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 6:

kristin what's happening it's mojo in the morning hi good morning everyone so i actually I am large chested but evidently I am not able to sleep Without getting Into trouble

00:51:31 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 1:

When you're cleaning the floor Are you just exposing yourself

00:51:35 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 6:

No I was found to sleep and all of a sudden I get this elbow into my boob I'm sorry you said sleep

00:51:41 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 1:

I thought she said sweep

00:51:44 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 6:

No sleeping My husband somehow just came around With his elbow and just slammed right through my boob To my ribs

00:51:51 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 1:

Ouch Ouch. Amber, what's going on?

00:51:56 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you?

00:51:57 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 1:

We're doing great. We're talking about big boobs. What else is there to talk about on a day like today?

00:52:03 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, not only being big-breasted, but I'm also short, so I have a hard time reaching things on the top shelf, and my boobs always get in the way, so I got to use the salad song.

00:52:18 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 1:

I love it. God love you, Amber. Thank you for calling and admitting that

00:52:22 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 5:

Thanks You guys have a wonderful day

00:52:25 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 1:

You take care of yourself, appreciate it So Megan, do you wear a bra to sleep for comfort Or do you let them loose?

00:52:31 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 2:

No, if I let them loose, I will probably suffocate So I gotta contain them I am one of the weird people I sleep in an underwire bra every single night I know girls right now are like, I'm so sorry Thank you, I appreciate it

00:52:44 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 1:

Hope?

00:52:46 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Yes, hello

00:52:47 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on?

00:52:49 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, not too much. You guys are cracking me up. I used to go to the bar a lot when I was younger, and I was constantly, like, pressed in with people, and I wouldn't notice that my boobs would be resting on them.

00:53:03 - 00:53:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? You can't feel it?

00:53:05 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they'd be like, oh, sorry, I hit your boob. Oh, didn't even know.

00:53:08 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 2:

Dude, okay, I'm so glad you said this, because I, for the longest time, thought something was wrong with me, because I literally couldn't feel when people were touching my boobs. Definitely. And it's very common in large-chested girls, like, at a certain point, because I think it's because we bump into everything with them, your brain is just like, oh, we don't need to worry about that anymore. Yep, I always had a circle from the bottom of my deer, because it was always...

00:53:36 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 1:

Shannon is out this morning, and Megan again with the Dirty on the 30.

00:53:46 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 2:

More cops are being, and I'm saying this in quotation marks, relieved of duty following the Tyree Nichols incident in Memphis. One of them has yet to be identified, and the other is Preston Hemphill, who the Memphis Police Department confirmed is currently under investigation. Now, it's unclear what his role in the incident was or if he even faces possible criminal charges in connection to the death of Tyree Nichols. But his attorney says that he's cooperating with officials. He wasn't present at the second scene where Nichols was beaten by five other officers.

00:54:21 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 1:

But I think I heard I heard with that. I saw that on the news last night that he was heard on the radio system saying something disparaging about. I hope they beat his ass.

00:54:32 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, the guy I'm talking about specifically is the one that tased him. So beyond that, the Memphis Fire Department also announced yesterday that they fired two EMTs and a lieutenant who responded to the scene for failing to properly assess Nichols as he lay beaten on the ground. Which is rough. Absolutely rough. Sam Smith has caused a bit of a firestorm online with their latest video called I'm Not Here to Make Friends.

00:55:00 - 00:55:51 | Speaker 3:

Now, in the video, it features the singer in what they are saying as flamboyant attire. I just think that Sam looks amazing. Some of the dancers are in drag. Some are wearing less than that to dance around Sam. The video has caused a lot of parents to say that there should be age restrictions in place on certain videos with sexualized content. But at the same time, fans of the singer are rushing to their defense, saying that, you know, sex has always kind of been a theme in music videos and music in general, especially in the last decade in pop music. And others are calling out that Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus all have similar videos without any protests from parents. A lot of people saying, is it just because of Sam's size or Sam's queerness? Is that what we can't tolerate? What's going on?

00:55:51 - 00:55:54 | Speaker 2:

Plus, to be honest with you, your kids aren't watching videos. No.

00:55:55 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean? Five-year-olds aren't looking for Sam Smith videos.

00:55:58 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 2:

It's you as the parent that probably are, or you know what it is? It's these parent organizations that probably are like, we're going to go after and attack them.

00:56:04 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 3:

But really, though, if that is the case, you monitor what your kids are doing. I watched a video of Cardi B singing WAP in her own kitchen the other day. And her daughter, Culture, comes down and immediately she turns the song off and was like, no, I monitor what my kids consider. That's not on the song. That's on me as a parent. So I feel like this kind of.

00:56:26 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if Cardi B's WAP was protested by them because if WAP wasn't protested by them, but Sam Smith's was protested by them, that leads to, okay, are they doing that for a reason, right? They're homophobic.

00:56:40 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Meghan Trainor revealed on the Today Show appearance yesterday that she is pregnant with her second child. Her husband, Daryl, jumped in the shot to celebrate when the news was revealed. As for the gender of the baby, she joked that she is saving that for a new TikTok, so look out for it there. That was not her only announcement on this show. She broke the news that she wrote a pregnancy book called Dear Future Mama, which I love. What a great nod to Dear Future Husband. But she wrote it for other pregnant women because she said she was pregnant during COVID and felt super alone. So she shared way too many details of her pregnancy so you didn't feel like you were going through it alone. And that book is going to come out on April 25th. So, congrats. So, Pamela Anderson is claiming in her upcoming memoir, Love Pamela, that Tim Allen flashed her on the set of Home Improvement back in 1991. Well, paparazzi caught up with Tim Allen to ask him about his, you know, whole perception of the ordeal.

00:57:38 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 1:

She was a great co-worker, I'll tell you that. She's a fun girl. I mean, she ever loved her, but ABC is a little disappointed in her memory. But all of us at Disney and ABC, really, she's a good girl.

00:57:50 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 3:

You guys, Tim Allen's not mad. He's just disappointed.

00:57:54 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 1:

He sounds like dad. He is dad. And why is he speaking for the company instead of just answering his own question?

00:57:59 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 3:

It feels a little bit weird.

00:58:00 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 1:

It does feel a little bit weird.

00:58:02 - 00:58:15 | Speaker 3:

And then let's talk about rich people for a second. Because Drake is out here throwing around money like it is no big deal. Oh, my goodness. Okay, so he lost a one million bet.

00:58:15 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 2:

One million dollar bet?

00:58:17 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 3:

Whatever. No, Argentina and the World Cup last month, okay? So we already know he's on a losing streak. Well, he decided to bet both on the NFL championship games on Sunday. And there's a lot of money at stake. So the early game was San Francisco 49ers versus the Philadelphia Eagles. And Drake bet on the Niners to win. They obviously got crushed. He was down $850,000. So in order to kind of get back on track, he decided to throw $1.1 million on the Chiefs. That paid off and that caused him to walk away with about $2.1 million. Put him up around $132,000 for the day. This is literally life-changing money for people. And he's just out here like, ah, I'll lose it. No big deal. And his $75 million house is getting rough. What is it like to be Drake? Just one day I would like to experience it. One day.

00:59:09 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 2:

I was going to throw another $200 into my BetRivers account over the weekend, and I'm realizing it's like, I don't do very well. I thought about getting the expensive car wash the other day, the $20 one. I thought that was rich.

00:59:22 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 3:

Dude, every time I try to get the expensive car wash, I look down, I'll go, let's do the middle one. Treat yourself. Treat yourself. Check out all of today's Dirty by going to the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

But if you listen to her closely, I want you to listen for the lip fillers that she put into her lips yesterday.

And she's just laying back, just living it up, giggling.

01:03:49 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 2:

We got a little rowdy yesterday. We got to find some new friends.

01:03:53 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 3:

It was a lot of fun. How long were you guys there for? Like three, four hours? Oh, my gosh.

01:03:59 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:04:00 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:04:00 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Most of that was us just hanging out afterwards. So we didn't leave.

01:04:05 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 4:

She's like, what else you got? You got something in the back that's not on the menu? listeners i forget her name megan i don't know if you remember her name the girl that girl it was like karen or kelsey i forget i apologize for that but she walked in right at the end right when we were about to leave and she's listening to mojo in the morning show and she walked in and she's like what did you guys get and megan's telling her all this stuff and we're like what are you getting she's like just botox like no no no you gotta get this and this and this

01:04:32 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 3:

that's a great salesperson you're saying now you're working see that good sponsorship of the the podcast having you uh you guys going out there um all right 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 and then when you went home yes uh yesterday you had kind of a weird experience happened to you

01:04:52 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

with uh a guy coming to your door is that right god i i knew that my my uh treatments kicked in real fast yesterday.

01:05:00 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 3:

but I didn't know it would be knock on my door to talk to me face to face about giving me money. And I know what you're thinking. Oh, my God, you're working the streets. And I say, I wish I'd be in a better tax bracket. But it turns out he just wanted to buy my car. But here is the thing. I'm confused because we've been talking a lot lately about thefts. And I'm not sure if this guy was trying to, what is it called? Case the joint? Is that what he was doing? Come to check it all out? I didn't know if he was coming to just look in my house and see what I had because he came up and he offered to buy my car in the driveway and your car is not for sale right you don't have a sign on it or something I don't have a sign on it now when I tell you I have two cars that's going to sound very bougie and I need to tell you that the car he wants to buy currently doesn't even run all right we all know that I park cars in my my your driveway is where they go to die exactly and this car literally the roof leaks it's not a nice vehicle is it that what your jeep is it's a 99 and i i drove it so bad it really should be like a 43 it's a 99

01:06:10 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 2:

99 two-door jeep wrangler correct that's that honestly is cool looking because that was a

01:06:14 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 3:

great model year oh i forgot i drove you around yeah yeah that was actually nice you drove me

01:06:18 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 2:

around in it when it actually ran yes before you went and bought another jeep wrangler which it It was like a 2020 or something.

01:06:25 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 3:

I bought my real adult daily driver dream car.

01:06:27 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 2:

So the guy came to the door. I don't think he's trying to scam you. I think that Jeeps are hot, and people still want Jeeps. And the guy probably is driving by your house every single day and just seeing it sitting in the driveway going, I'll give her an offer and get rid of it for her. This might be what she's looking for to get rid of the thing.

01:06:46 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 3:

I think he thought, this is a man who, in my mind, has so much free time in his life that he's been staking out my house. And he knows that I go in and out all day and I'm just a young, a supple, young, beautiful woman.

01:07:03 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 2:

Wait, say supple again with those lips. Supple. Supple.

01:07:07 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 3:

She's a supple woman who is beautiful and full of life and joy. anytime i want to give her money and also see if she lives alone and um i think that i'm going honestly what this is is me telling you i'm going to start a netflix documentary about my own death

01:07:25 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 1:

well we've all become less trustful now right like if someone knocks on the door we never take

01:07:30 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 3:

it at face value or like what do they really want listen i'm a millennial i have a ring doorbell that doesn't actually ring love it does it film people yes do i have it hooked up to anything that would notify me that somebody's at the door of course not if i hear you a knocking my dog's gonna bark i'm gonna hit the floor i'm gonna crawl army crawl to my front window peek through pray to god that you don't see the blinds move but there's no way in hell i'm answering the door but your brother thank god he answered the door he answered the door michelle yes what's going on i i just

01:08:04 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 6:

I just want to tell you that is not weird going and asking about your Jeep. My first car was an 87 Jeep Wrangler, and I am a 42-year-old mom now, and that is my favorite car. Every time I see one, I follow the person because I want to see if they don't want it anymore. It's hard to find those cars.

01:08:21 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That right there would scare some people, though, wouldn't it?

01:08:25 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 5:

You're following them around. Ma'am, you're scary. That's not weird. I want your info so I can buy yours.

01:08:33 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 2:

Megan, see this? You may be able to sell this thing right now. You don't want to sell it, though, do you? I know. You eventually want it to run again or no?

01:08:40 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 5:

Don't sell it. No, they're the best ever. But here's the thing. Right now I drive to Dodge Journey. That's so dumb.

01:08:48 - 01:08:50 | Unknown:

Get the Jeep. Save the Jeep.

01:08:50 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but here's the thing. Remember how I told you when I lived at my dad's house, there were three of us in seven cars, and most of them didn't run? One of them caught on fire. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's the kind of cars that we have. Okay, so at my current house. At my current house I have a one car Detached like garage right Which is obviously a storage unit For my tiny house and doesn't have a car inside of it And then my brother and I have four cars I need to get rid of cars you guys I'm becoming my father and I can't do it I can't be the trash person In my neighborhood again Did you hear her say person? Trash person

01:09:23 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 2:

You know what we should do? We should make her read something that Like what would it be? Is it S's that is in there? I think it's the S's that are having a problem.

01:09:33 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 1:

Something by Shel Silverstein.

01:09:37 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Gina?

01:09:39 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you?

01:09:40 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

01:09:42 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

You know, they have a skit. Sebastian Maniscalco is a comedian. How hilarious. Talks about how you, in the 80s, somebody knock at your door and everybody jump up and answer the door and pull out the Entenmanns and the Sanka. And today, somebody knocks on your door and you're football crawling to the front.

01:10:00 - 01:10:02 | Speaker 2:

I've heard him do that one

01:10:02 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 4:

You just gotta watch it It's a shift in society

01:10:06 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 2:

Yes, we do not want anybody Coming to our door at all

01:10:10 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 3:

But also I don't want to not have company At the same time

01:10:13 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning show What's happening, Carla?

01:10:19 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Hello Okay, so you all think that that's weird My mom lives in the Boston Edison district And people keep coming to her house Asking her if she wants to sell her house

01:10:29 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 1:

That's a hot neighborhood right now Everybody wants to move there

01:10:33 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 6:

But she's been there for over 30 years And everybody keeps coming Or they'll send letters and everything Or they'll find her number And send her text messages And she is pissed

01:10:45 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 1:

And isn't it funny It's like you have to put a sign up Saying no I want to keep my house Like just stop knocking Stop coming up

01:10:52 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to make her a sign I will tell you though

01:10:56 - 01:11:03 | Speaker 2:

There's no homes on the market right now there's no inventory of homes that's happening in none like you know really nice i told you i've

01:11:03 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 1:

had several people stop by and i look out my window and there's somebody taking a picture of my house i'm like the hell's going on and i finally figured out like people keep emailing and calling and trying to buy the house i'm like i just moved in i just put so much money into a new roof and new windows i'm not moving out until i have a an old man because i put too much work

01:11:25 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 2:

in a stupid house I honestly I you could buy my Katie what's going on I just wanted to tell Megan

01:11:34 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 5:

that she's my soul sister I feel like I text that almost every day but yeah the the hitting the deck as soon as somebody knocks on the door or the ring that doesn't actually ring like you could be on my front porch and I won't know until Alexa tells me and when Alexa tells me I'm gone

01:11:50 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 2:

I feel like Megan needs a panic room just for people to come into the front door, don't you think?

01:11:57 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Megan, I've literally messaged you on Instagram saying that we are soulmates and we need to be best friends. And that I would send you to... Wait, no, no, no.

01:12:04 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 2:

Megan, say soulmates. I want to hear you say soulmates.

01:12:06 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 5:

Soulmates.

01:12:10 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 3:

How many quality questions can we get to? It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:18 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 1:

Yes? Hi, this is Mr. Dabolinikon from U.S. Senseless Bureau with a 30-second survey, starting with, have you ever vacuumed your clothes?

01:12:27 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 4:

Vacuumed my clothes?

01:12:28 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 1:

In order to get them clean?

01:12:30 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:12:31 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. And would you try a product called lasagna-flavored cough syrup?

01:12:36 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:12:37 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 1:

Great. And how late do you think the Internet should be open on the weekends?

01:12:42 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 4:

On the weekends?

01:12:43 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm.

01:12:44 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I guess you should. But if you're paying for Internet service, you should be able to use it at any time.

01:12:50 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 1:

Any time. Okay. Can you believe it's not butter? Yes. And how many centimeters are you right now?

01:12:57 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 4:

Five, five and a half.

01:12:59 - 01:13:04 | Speaker 1:

Do you know how many centimeters? Six. Would you agree that Yoo-Hoo is just watered-down chocolate milk?

01:13:04 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:13:05 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 1:

And do you mind if I slip into something a little more comfortable?

01:13:09 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:13:09 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 1:

And which animal do you think is more confused, the bird dog or the catfish?

01:13:13 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 4:

And you say this is a survey with who?

01:13:16 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 1:

The U.S. Senseless Bureau.

01:13:17 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 4:

I thought you said three questions a little while ago.

01:13:20 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you know what I did? I apologize. I'll wrap this up then with just the last question. If you live in China, you went out for dinner, would you still say you're going out for Chinese? No. I really appreciate you being a part of our survey. And just for the record, so I can say, are you under the age of 50 or over the age of 50? Under. And are eyebrows considered facial hair? No. And why is it if ghosts can walk through walls and glide downstairs, they don't fall through the floor.

01:13:47 - 01:13:49 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea, sir, but I do have to go.

01:13:50 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Why is vanilla ice cream white when vanilla extract is brown? Milk. And if a stripper gets breast implants, can she write it off on her taxes as a business?

01:14:03 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. All right. That was good. A lot of good questions there. Senseless survey here on the Mojo in the Morning show.

Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text 95500. So, Mike, when you were heading back yesterday to Grand Rapids from being here and hanging out in Detroit, you witnessed something that was like a near-death experience?

01:14:38 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I'm not sure what you're supposed to do. if you narrowly escape death i don't know the protocol and i've never thankfully i've never you know knock on wood i've never had to experience anything like that but i'm driving down 96 and i see a car and it's probably about a half a mile ahead of me maybe even shorter distance but it it swerves

01:15:00 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 2:

around another car goes in and out of both lanes then goes down into like the ditch on the side of the expressway and like jumps up really high and like hits a uh another hill so the back of the car comes flying up and then you could see the tire spinning really fast and then he spins yeah and then he spins and then like the the back tires hit he spins and fishtails goes back into the expressway cars are still flying by him and i'm getting closer i'm starting to slow down at this point and he jumps back onto it and then like fishtails onto the expressway and continues to drive now it doesn't appear that he's going to stop at this point and there's things kind of dangling from the car a little bit but he's just driving still and so i go to get off i don't even remember what the exit was but i go to get off the next exit and i see that he's getting off that exit too so i'm like oh he's got to be you know something must have happened his car must be smoking or something so we end up going to the same gas station and i'm gonna walk up at this point and and say something but he's okay yeah yeah but he jumps out of his car and walks into the gas station and i'm like he must be calling police like i but also knows he means like i want to know what like what do you say after something like that just happened do you call an ambulance what do you do so i'm like walking a little faster to walk in and i walk in and this dude buys a bang energy drink, pays for it, gets back in his car, and drives off like he didn't just almost die. And I'm like, hold up. Hold up. What's going on? What goes through your head after you do that? Because you never see that. Nine times out of ten, you see what happens to the person when they get in a big accident and you just see the end result of that. You don't ever talk to them afterwards unless you're in that accident. And so when you come out of that and nothing happens, don't you want to check your car? Like, don't you want to look under the – he didn't look under the car. You literally almost flipped, rolled your car. He drinks bang. He's probably cheating life all the time. That's true.

01:17:06 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 1:

That is funny. Oh, my God. It's one of those things where do you ever fall, slip and fall, and you hope nobody's watching you, and you're like, oh, I'm all right. You get up. You put yourself on your two feet right afterwards.

01:17:17 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 2:

I guess. And I don't know, like, if you've ever been in a near-death experience and, like, what goes through your head after that. But I wouldn't imagine just driving off like your day just continues would be the thing.

01:17:28 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 1:

I've had the whole spin-out. And, by the way, today's a day where you've got to be careful. There's, you know, like negative whatever, balls, degrees outside. And be careful of that ice because you're going to be sliding all over the place.

01:17:42 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 2:

I hit someone that way in.

01:17:43 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 1:

It's scary. And when you do it, it's probably in that same guy's place. You're just happy that you're alive, you know, and you know that your car is still moving. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I don't know if there's any listeners that have ever had something like that happen to them and then just keep on driving. Just keep on going.

01:18:10 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 2:

Like, don't you even if I like almost hit something, I feel like I might pull off the side of the road and just go. Yeah. Right. Take a breather. This guy was like, no, let's go. I'm never more attentive than when I'm white knuckling it with adrenaline running through my body.

01:18:25 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 1:

I saw somebody during that big snowstorm that we had where the gosh, there was like, what, 10 inches or so of snow like a week or so ago. I saw somebody hanging off the side of the road. what yeah like his car was hanging off here i'll show you a picture i took up i took a picture of it um he was hanging off the side of the road and i pulled up to the side to see if he was okay and if he you know needed anything and he goes yeah just trying to get to a meeting like that was like his comment that he he made as i said hey do you want me to call 911 he goes no i'm just

01:19:01 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 2:

trying to get to a meeting yeah and i'm like you're just unsafe dude let me help you yeah

01:19:07 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 1:

It was wild. His car, if it would have gone any further, would have been completely down into the ditch area. I must not have saved the picture because it was so wild. It's one of those ones. You ever see in the movies where the car is hanging off of the side, and they're waiting to see if it goes and falls down?

01:19:34 - 01:19:44 | Speaker 2:

And then when you see it happen, too, it almost is like, is this really happening? Like his. Yeah, because it's so it all always happens fast or it always is like a situation like, oh, my God, I can't believe that just happened.

01:19:45 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Kyle. Hey, Mojo. First time caller, long time listener. Welcome. I had a person on the highway, a truck driver that was he just like blew like two or three tires.

01:20:00 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, tire shrapnel was going everywhere, and he just kept going. I don't know. He didn't stop or anything.

01:20:07 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's kind of crazy. Do you think he didn't know? Maybe he didn't hear it or feel it?

01:20:11 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

No, you could hear it. It was definitely a loud bang. Those trucks.

01:20:16 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 4:

I want to talk to you. We have all our truckers that call us up from time to time. I want to ask them, how is it that they still are driving, like, 55 or 60 miles an hour when we're all going 20 miles an hour, white knuckling our steering wheels when there's like a heavy snow or ice out there. That vehicle, their semi-truck is not stopping if they hit a patch of

01:20:38 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 3:

ice, right? Well, I congratulate on getting my packages a day later, you know? Right.

01:20:44 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. Thank you for the call. What's going on, Katie?

01:20:49 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So there was one time that I was switching interstates. I was going from one highway to another highway, and I just took that, like, curving lane a little bit too fast, I guess, and I lost complete control of my car. I did a full 360 while trying to get on to the other highway. Luckily, no one hit me and no one was even remotely close to me, but I literally just stopped on the side of the highway, paused for about 10 seconds, took a breath, and just kept driving because what else can you do?

01:21:19 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You know what you could do? You could go get a bang energy drink. uh what's up liz hi hi good morning how are you guys we're good what's going on

01:21:31 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 2:

um so i was driving downtown detroit um i think i was on the lodge or something and i came across a mattress in the middle of the road i was able to swerve around it but i watched in my rear rear mirror as the person behind me hit it and completely flipped their car over in the middle oh no that's terrifying i was going so fast and i couldn't even pull over anywhere and i was just shaking the rest of my drive to school it was so crazy it's scary yeah when you

01:21:59 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 4:

witness that and you know it's one of those things where i i like if i see something like that i got to pray like if i see a funeral procession drive by me i got to pray and if i see something like that happen i got to pray right away just hope that they're okay exactly thank you for the call I appreciate it.

01:22:16 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 2:

Thanks. Goodbye, guys.

01:22:17 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 4:

All right. All right. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. We are commercial free right now. And in just a matter of moments, I'm going to tell you what jobs just won the amazing honor of being labeled the worst jobs to have. Reese, your job is not on the list. I just wanted to know this guy. I'm telling you, it's not on the list. But I'll tell you the other jobs that are on the list. uh 844 mojo live text 95500 keep listening because this hour you have a chance to win 250 in groceries and qualify for ten thousand dollars we only have four more qualifiers for that how great was travis yesterday that guy was like superstar stud that came in from kroger delivery to bring our our delivery order so happy and by the way thank you to uh kroger for getting that delivery here so fast because now we've all been reaping the benefits of it by having food here at the station now to eat. Not having to worry about sending anybody out for things.

01:23:35 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh. Who ordered the Milano cookies? I don't know. They're trying so hard not to eat any cookies and there's a bag of them on the couch in our office. The Milano cookies

01:23:46 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 4:

and there's more Cheez-Its than we've ever had Cheez-Its before in our lives.

01:23:49 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 1:

I can make those Milano cookies disappear.

01:23:52 - 01:23:52 | Unknown:

But I did notice

01:23:52 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 4:

something and this kind of is the thing that bums me out because I'm such a fan of Kroger. They forgot or somebody canceled my order of the cottage cheese. They didn't put it in the fridge? There was no cottage. I didn't see cottage cheese. Did Rhonda take it again? Because if Rhonda's on the prowl again for my cottage cheese. Travis mentioned it when he came in. He did? Where is it, KP? Don't be blaming Rhonda. I don't actually know if they

01:24:15 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 1:

brought it because I didn't put it on the list. I didn't have the right brand for you.

01:24:20 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh. That's because I'm fancy. I like Daisy. Daisy brand in the white The thing I thought maybe that Our good friend Rhonda Was at it again

01:24:34 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 5:

Emphasis on the good friend Rhonda if you're listening

01:24:37 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 4:

By the way Has Rhonda Has Rhonda been nice to you? She's been kind? Me and Rhonda are homies That's cool, I like that I like that you guys can have a moment Where you call her out on the radio And her sister's listening

01:24:52 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 5:

And then she waits for me after and then they text me in the hallway.

01:24:55 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo, how big is that pot you're stirring right now?

01:24:58 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's big.

01:25:00 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 1:

that's a big one all right here we go um give me a jobs what's a good job song get a job work gotta work oh work from home oh i got it yes work we can do that that's a good one actually i have the fifth harmony uh soundtrack up here right now because megan wants it for a dirty report coming up here in just a second so all right here are the list of the worst jobs This report ranks over 200 careers on overall quality of their work environment, the amount of stress, occupational outlook, and income. Number one, Uber slash taxi drivers, number one on the list. One of the biggest reasons, safety reasons They feel like there's a safety issue With that Number two, and it's always on the list in the top five And I never understand what the heck it is But it's the highest death that you can have As far as a job is concerned Can you guess on it, which one?

01:26:11 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 4:

Underwater welding

01:26:12 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 1:

No, but that has been on the list before No, Spike, anything? It's an outdoor-y type job

01:26:18 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 2:

Tree cutter

01:26:21 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 1:

Loggers

01:26:23 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

Loggers

01:26:23 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes, loggers and a lot of accidents. Yeah. Give this guy some of that Kroger delivery that they brought in. The next one here, newspaper retail salesperson. Oh, my God. I mean, come on. Who's reading a newspaper these days? So if you're selling advertising for them, it's a tough one for you right now.

01:26:49 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

How about fax repairman? Pager supply.

01:26:53 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 1:

Next on the list, and it's really sad to see this, enlisted military members are on this list. I mean, we should definitely be taking care of them more than we do.

01:27:03 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 2:

We do not take care of their mental health conditions when they return home.

01:27:07 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 1:

And a couple more. Corrections officers are on the list. One of the worst occupations, they say the environment, and they say that the depression level among corrections officers is awful. Plus, they say the pay is awful. um flight attendants has made the list this year oh wow i mean would you want to be a flight attendant with all the a-holes that are out there in this world right now and last but not least i'll give this to reese air personalities are on the list so they they actually made the list television news and radio reporters and air personalities has made the list i don't think our jobs are that bad come on i mean they make lists for a reason there's a there are good days

01:27:49 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 4:

then they were a bad day.

01:27:50 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if they called more of those people, and that's the reason why. You're telling me that our job's like a logger?

01:27:56 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 2:

No, but I don't know. We're lucky. We have good bosses in this market. I know some people I talk to in the business that are just frustrated. These people work for Odyssey. I guarantee you. Audacity.

01:28:09 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 1:

I've worked for other people that I could see why this would be on this list.

01:28:13 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, and I think a lot of the jobs on there were physically demanding. I think our job is very emotionally demanding, and people don't realize it.

01:28:22 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 1:

But definitely we're, you know, more responsibilities these days than ever before, too.

01:28:27 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 4:

It's like psychological warfare in here.

01:28:30 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 1:

All right. Who's got the worst job? I want to know. Katie, hi. What do you do?

01:28:38 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Well, actually, I called my...

01:28:42 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. Your boss is keeping you from saying this. Say it again.

01:28:46 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 3:

your phone got crappy oh i'm sorry um i said i called about my current job which i'm an stna but i did work as a corrections officer before too at a juvenile detention center and i can tell you that is a horribly depressing job are they underpaid there as correctional facility workers

01:29:04 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 4:

you what are correctional workers are they like underpaid

01:29:09 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 3:

oh absolutely and like so as a when i was a corrections officer i was a juvenile one so i worked in the jdc and um like if the kid like they would make you dock these they have a point system and they would make you give these kids points and dock them and for stupid stuff like not having their pants cuffed at the bottom um if they were sitting in class and their feet weren't completely on desk and like it was really petty stuff that they wanted you to just be all

01:29:41 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 1:

over it's like you're antagonizing these kids right yeah yes and it's like just leave them

01:29:45 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 3:

alone half of these kids are coming from a rough spot anyways like just chill you know it was it was horrible and they're not nice to their employees it was it was a very bad job um

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

I'll go.

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, I didn't get your current one. You actually were talking about your last one. What's your current one?

01:30:04 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm an STNA, a state-tested nurse's aide, so I'm a caregiver. I work under the nurses in the nursing home. I'm the one providing, like, the patient care.

01:30:12 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 8:

Is that a good job or a bad job?

01:30:16 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 3:

I get paid very well doing what I do because I work through an agency, so I'm an independent contractor, but a lot of places don't pay very well. It's very demanding. A lot of people work 12, 16 hours And you don't even get breaks Half the time You're just not guaranteed to eat all day long And You have people's lives In your hands

01:30:42 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 8:

I would think anything in the healthcare Is tough these days

01:30:46 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 3:

It's just so demeaning With COVID and everything It's been really hard on everybody And you don't get the time to give The proper care Like, you want to give to these people because we're so under a time budget that doesn't work for what we have to do. We're always understaffed.

01:31:06 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 8:

Listen, Katie, I got to move to the next call. Otherwise, you're going to be the only occupation that I'm going to be talking to. Thank you. I appreciate it. Blair also wants to say corrections officers because your husband is a correction officer, Blair?

01:31:21 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, my husband, my father-in-law, and my father-in-law's wife are all corrections officers.

01:31:24 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. Mm-hmm. Wow.

01:31:26 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:31:27 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 8:

Is it tough on the spouses, too?

01:31:31 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah, it's very tough on the spouses. Corrections officers get mandated a lot, so he'll go to work. He works 2 to 10. Sometimes he'll work 2 p.m. to 6 a.m. because he gets mandated.

01:31:42 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 8:

Do you worry about him leaving and, you know, possibly something bad happening? To any movie I see, you know, I saw that movie with Nicolas Cage. That, you know, is it like that?

01:31:55 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 7:

um it's funny because watching any prison shows or anything with him he's like no that's not real oh really he'll shut everything down yeah is there not a risk of them escaping oh there's always a risk there's always a risk they just have to be able to do their job as corrections officers and make sure that these prisoners aren't you know planning anything so whenever they see them even passing notes they have to take the notes from them

01:32:21 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 8:

Wow. I like that you went off Con Air. I did. Dina, this is an interesting one. You say one of the worst jobs. What is that?

01:32:31 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 2:

A 911 dispatcher. Yes. High stress?

01:32:37 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 4:

High stress. I feel like technology has made people super lazy. It is also a rewarding job, don't get me wrong. So I love helping people, but definitely an unappreciated job for sure.

01:32:52 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 8:

And you're going to be called out if you do even the slightest thing wrong because you've got people's lives at risk. So that's got to be a tough one. That's going to be a high-stress one. I always thought I'd be a good 911 operator because I'm good on the phones.

01:33:04 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Mojo would be asking them questions for 20 minutes.

01:33:08 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 1:

Can you just send an ambulance? So how did your truck – how did you guys meet?

01:33:13 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 8:

What are you wearing? Lana, this has got to be a bad job Because I was just at your work A week ago and people seem miserable there

01:33:23 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I work for Secretary of State Oh boy

01:33:28 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, that's like the Man, miserable

01:33:31 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 5:

I'll admit, it hasn't been that bad Recently during the current You know, Secretary of State That took office For her second term as well She's made a lot of good changes But there are days, man, where I just want to cuss somebody out really bad

01:33:47 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 8:

I wondered if all you guys, because everybody was wearing masks that work behind the counter I wonder if you guys are wearing masks because you're mandated to Or because you don't want people to see your frowns on your faces

01:33:57 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, because I don't want you to hear what I'm saying behind my mask

01:34:01 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 2:

I knew it had to be that What about the people you see out, the portable toilet cleaners The guys with the big vacuum that have to clean out the porta-potties

01:34:12 - 01:34:13 | Speaker 8:

I couldn't imagine that.

01:34:13 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 2:

Like, I see them, and I'm like, how did you get into that? Nobody probably chose that job, like went to school for that job, right? I don't know what they get. Maybe they get paid really well. We don't know. But you've got to take that hose in and suck out the poop.

01:34:27 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 8:

What do you do when it's frozen poop on a day like today? Becky.

01:34:32 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:34:33 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 8:

How you doing? What's the worst job?

01:34:36 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 6:

Tax professional.

01:34:38 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yeah. Your hours are crazy, aren't they?

01:34:40 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 6:

January 1st to April 18th is stress every single year. And the past couple of years have done the worst because we've had to deal with the stimulus checks and the child tax credits, all the different changes. Hopefully this year we're a little bit back to normal. But, man, the last couple of years have been crazy.

01:34:57 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I can only imagine. This is a wild.

01:35:00 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 3:

job i've seen this in the movies too kyle yes what's your job i'm an armored truck driver

01:35:08 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 2:

that's got to be a risky job huh are you the guy that drives the truck or the guy that actually has to bring the uh packages in and out of the stores with the money i'm both i'm a driver and

01:35:21 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

a messenger you guys ever get robbed um i actually have been shot four times oh my god

01:35:28 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, God.

01:35:29 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow. That's so casual. See, I was thinking, well, people won't mess with you because they know you guys have that whole thing on lockdown, but they're trying.

01:35:36 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 5:

And you still work there?

01:35:39 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 3:

Yes. I've been doing it for five years. Is the pay really good? It is actually, yes. It's decent, but it should be up a little bit more.

01:35:48 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever been tempted to rob the truck and to go on the run with it?

01:35:54 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 3:

No, because I will warn you right now, because somebody has tried that and all the money is actually marked. Yeah.

01:36:03 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Can I tell you, though, somebody stole my lunch the other day and I was ready to quit. If I got shot four times,

01:36:08 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 1:

I'd walk out.

01:36:10 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

01:36:12 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 2:

Amazing job. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:36:15 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 3:

No problem, sir. You guys have a good one. You too.

01:36:20 - 01:36:21 | Unknown:

Jesus. Whoa.

01:36:21 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 1:

Time to change. See, maybe that's where they get the guys that are vacuuming out the porta-potties. It depends on what job you're coming from. Maybe it's all the outlook.

01:36:30 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe Rob's calling up about this job. This job doesn't seem like it would be that bad of a job. What's the job, Rob, that you say is the worst job?

01:36:37 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 4:

So my wife is a barista, and it's pretty rough. People don't understand, but it can be pretty nasty, especially when someone's ordering a hot drink in a tall plastic cup, and you can't tell them it's not going to work. It gets pretty rough, especially when people want a hot chocolate in a thin plastic cup these days.

01:36:59 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 1:

I know these guys don't want to deal with me before I've had my coffee, and your wife's dealing with everybody before they had their coffee.

01:37:04 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and she opens like at 6.30 in the morning, so you have the regulars, which are fine, but then you get someone who's going to ask, oh, what's this, what's that? Can I do this with half of that and put little steamed milk in this, but I want the oat milk. and it just the list continues the problem is then i have to hear all this for nick

01:37:24 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 2:

so so then technically who has the worst job your wife or you as her husband well i feel bad for her

01:37:33 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 4:

but you know it's it's uh i i hope like people just can be be a little they become a little

01:37:39 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 2:

considerate for like towards them in any of the service industry people are just total jerk holes you know yeah thank you for the call i appreciate it thank you it's bad when the uh prison guard actually has nicer people to deal with right people that are outside of prison amazing all right those are the uh worst jobs ever you know bring lydia and we need to we need to grab either lydia or kp i gotta get you guys in for something because we haven't had an opportunity to grab a topic out of you guys uh yet this morning uh lydia is one of our our producers we're uninterrupted mojo in the morning how you doing lydia i like your blanket is it cold and it's freezing today it's chill well it's cold outside but it's also you know what it's cold outside and it's cold inside too have you noticed that at all it's like really really cold out here hold on a second i need to where where is that today is the day the official day that you can pull this song out uh because we all know how cold uh it is out here and oh yeah ready here we go t baby

01:38:48 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 5:

by request mix 92.5 it's so cold in the day how the hell do we supposed to keep peace What's all on somebody's mind, working and doing time? It's so cold in the deep. How the hell do we post to keep peace? What's all on somebody's mind, working and doing time? It's cold outside, but I was doing it.

01:39:25 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 2:

How did she not have a career?

01:39:26 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 5:

A home never gets cold.

01:39:28 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 1:

That was live in the Mojo in the Morning studio, too.

01:39:30 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 2:

That's exclusive. We should have more music from T-Baby. Is that what her name was? Alright, Mojo on the morning show. So Lydia, one of our executive producers here, is in studio with us this morning. And Lydia, sometimes people aren't really good at giving you personal space, are they?

01:39:50 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely not. Lately, it's been pretty abnormal. So this past weekend, I went out with my best friend, Nora. We went to get some drinks at bar. Louis and just had kind of a good time. And we were finishing up and this guy sat down next to us. And keep in mind, the table next to us was really close. All there was was a little bar between us. And it's a table for four, but he was sitting there just by himself. And he chose to sit at the chair that was directly next to mine. So he's just hanging out there. He's putting his arm on the ledge and it starts touching my arm. And I look at him and he's like, am I making you a little bit uncomfortable and i was like yeah kind of you know but i brushed it off i'm talking to my friend nora and he's looking over and he's watching us have like a conversation and i'm like this is getting a little bit weird he's pulling out his keys and stuff and he sets his id on my side of the table and i'm and the waitress comes over and she's looking at him and looking at the id and i was like he's making me a little bit uncomfortable is that his way of trying to to

01:40:50 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 3:

meet you he's trying to have you look at his id so you see his name and his age and all that stuff

01:40:54 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 1:

It was over, so it was like the backside to it.

01:40:57 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 3:

So was he a good-looking guy?

01:40:59 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:41:00 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 3:

Because that's the thing. If he was good-looking, the guy could sit on your lap on that stool, and you probably would have been fine with it.

01:41:08 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 1:

Fair enough. Yeah, that would probably be true.

01:41:10 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 3:

Is that a move? Is that a move that guys do? First off, I agree with you on people don't have personal space these days. When you're sitting at a bar or if you're at the counter at a Coney or whatever, You got to leave at least a chair in between. You can't just all of a sudden. I know that space is tough, but if there's openings, you got to go somewhere where there was an opening.

01:41:33 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 1:

I thought it was a joke because he just sat down at that table. He has backside and his arm touching mine. And I'm like, oh, yeah, this has to be a joke. I think he might be drunk or he just wants to hang out, play a prank. No, he was fully serious. Ordered a coffee and sat there. I'm like, yeah, we're ready to go. Next time, start rubbing his back. And when he turns around and goes, what are you doing? Go, oh, I thought we were comfortable touching each other.

01:41:54 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm a little skeptical, too, of a guy that goes into Bar Louie and orders a coffee. Oh, yeah. Fair point. Fair point. First off, the people at Bar Louie probably didn't even have coffee brewing. Nope. So they got to go and brew a coffee, especially the bartender doing that thing. What time of day was this?

01:42:10 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 1:

This was probably about at 10 o'clock at night. Oh, my God. He was wearing sunglasses inside. He's trying. Oh, God.

01:42:15 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 2:

You should have started with that.

01:42:17 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 1:

That's another one.

01:42:17 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Mike's right. There's a million red flags on this guy. That's crazy. So what did you guys end up doing? Did you guys end up trying to move yourselves?

01:42:26 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 2:

They went home together That's an endgame It's a twist

01:42:30 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 1:

My boyfriend now The waitress offered us to move But we were like, yeah, it's okay She felt kind of uncomfortable for us But she was like, you know what? If you guys want to leave, that's okay And it wasn't because of him that we were leaving We were just ready to go at that point But I kind of felt bad

01:42:46 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 3:

I see sometimes guys make moves like that And it works And I wonder who are these guys that are able to pull those moves off, like putting his ID down and, you know, trying to get your attention by putting his car keys up there. Did you notice what kind of car he was driving? No. From his car keys? Because the guy doesn't put his car keys down on the bar unless he's got something that he's trying to, like he must have been driving like a Beamer or something like that. That seems like a Beamer type of a guy. Erica, what's going on?

01:43:13 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, everyone. I'm just thinking, you know, having a driver's license doesn't impress me. maybe a black amex or something but yeah you know what that's actually a little more than the

01:43:25 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

car yeah right what what would it be that he has to put down on that uh bar that would actually impress you what we yeah i'm asking lydia that question you stay on the phone though with us

01:43:38 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 1:

lydia what what would it have been i don't think it could have been anything for this guy but if it was another guy i guess a black amex would work that's a good one do that does that work

01:43:47 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 3:

or don't you look at the guy and say why are you spending that much money for a black

01:43:51 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 1:

Amex? Those credit cards that make a sound when they hit the table. Yeah, the metal. Luxury. If you have a frequent Flyer Miles card, that'll get me mmm. Are you diving?

01:44:03 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 2:

Are you?

01:44:04 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? Take me to the Sky Club. So you're a rocket scientist.

01:44:10 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 2:

Even seeing the guy get the black Amex card out, I would think no. Too cocky, too showy. Like, if you just see him paying with it and you catch it, then you're like, oh, that's a catch. If they're waving it around and flaunting it, they got it just to impress you? I'm like, nah.

01:44:25 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 3:

So I have a single friend of mine, and he's actually one of Chelsea's cousins. He has pictures. He strategically puts pictures on his phone screen that will impress girls when he puts the phone screen down on the table. What would that be?

01:44:41 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 2:

What would the picture be? He's got dog.

01:44:43 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

Other ones too He'll put places that he's visited Like pictures and stuff to bring up conversation Because he's trying to get their attention Right Lydia had the Guy that was invading her space Tyler, that wouldn't be you

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 6:

would it be?

01:45:02 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 2:

What? The BMW keys?

01:45:04 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 6:

No, that's not you, though, the guy that was at Bar Louis doing this to Lydia.

01:45:09 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 2:

No, it was not me.

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 6:

What's going on? Have you ever done something like this?

01:45:15 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 2:

No, not really. I always like to show off sometimes. So what's your show off? What do I show off?

01:45:23 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:45:24 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 2:

Vehicles.

01:45:25 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 6:

So you do the car keys. What kind of car do you drive?

01:45:30 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 2:

I've had lots of them. I've had BMW M Sports with high horsepower to drive-race cars.

01:45:36 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 6:

Tyler, your car must be amazing because your conversation is awful.

01:45:42 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 5:

That's it. Oh, my God.

01:45:44 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 7:

It worked one time, and that's why he continues to do it. Oh, my God.

01:45:47 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 5:

Just don't talk.

01:45:48 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 6:

That BMW better be the nicest BMW they make. What's up, Laura?

01:45:53 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 10:

I'm just saying, we don't need a BMW. Just throw down some Corvette keys, and I'll leave.

01:45:58 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really? You'll leave with the guy if he has a Corvette keys?

01:46:02 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 10:

Oh, yeah.

01:46:03 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 6:

Why? Because you know he's near death. He's an old. You're hoping to take all his money?

01:46:12 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 10:

Oh, yeah. The new Corvette? Absolutely. I'll take that.

01:46:14 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 6:

I do love that new Corvette. Honestly, I would love to drive. I go to Gordon Chevrolet. I'm like, I don't think I can drive this thing. First off, I can't fit into it. But secondly, it's kind of like the sign that you're an old person if you start driving the Corvette.

01:46:27 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 5:

How do you know they're Corvette keys?

01:46:28 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 6:

Does it say Corvette on the keys?

01:46:30 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, now all the key fobs have the logos on them.

01:46:33 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I think it just says Chevrolet, does it? I don't know. So you'd have to ask.

01:46:37 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, it's got the logo.

01:46:39 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, it does say Corvette on it?

01:46:40 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 5:

You know people are paying for a Corvette on that key fob. Laura, what about if he's got the Corvette keys, but like Lydia's neighbor here on the bar, he also has his sunglasses on indoors?

01:46:53 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 10:

Well, how nice are the sunglasses? Oh, he was wearing Prada sunglasses. So, I don't know.

01:46:59 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was pretty expensive.

01:47:00 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 10:

Some money.

01:47:00 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 6:

Indoors.

01:47:02 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 10:

Yep, potential contender.

01:47:03 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God. See, he just went up to the wrong woman. Right? He needed to be next to you. What's up, Alicia?

01:47:11 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 8:

Hi, guys. Good morning.

01:47:13 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

01:47:15 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 8:

I just think it's really weird that he would come in and automatically offer up his ID and then not even order alcohol. Yeah, it was very strange.

01:47:23 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I didn't even think about that.

01:47:24 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 8:

I bartend. I bartend. I live in Florida, and I bartend in Florida. And I still listen to you guys every morning But I mean He kind of reminds me of the weird guy That came into my bar one time with sunglasses on All creepy I end up having to pull my knife out On this guy

01:47:38 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 4:

What did he do How did it accelerate to that

01:47:43 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 8:

He was sitting at the bar With his head down and his sunglasses on Ordered a drink and then got up Left his drink and went and stood between The end of the bar and the wall And then I'm watching him and he creepily, slyly turned around and locked the door, like locked everyone in the bar.

01:48:00 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. Oh, that's weird.

01:48:02 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, and I instantly, like, just pulled my knife out and, like, was, like, I pushed him. I was, like, get the F out of my bar. And then my bar, the owner came, and this guy lunged at the owner and had him up by the wall by his neck, and my owner just started beating the crap out of him.

01:48:18 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Did he drive a Corvette?

01:48:21 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 6:

I'm telling you, though.

01:48:22 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 8:

I just got a bicycle outside.

01:48:25 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 6:

could you imagine by the way though that here you are a guy you're just trying to be flirty and all this stuff and then the girl pulls out a knife on you doesn't sound like he was being

01:48:35 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 9:

flirty yeah they don't want me carrying my gun behind the bar so i gotta have something yeah

01:48:40 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 7:

wow getting your ass beat too by the the you have to leave on a bike

01:48:44 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 6:

hey alicia it's negative 13 degree wind chill right now here where in florida are you and And what's the temperature?

01:48:54 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 9:

I am in Cape Coral. Right now it's about 78 with a high of 85.

01:48:58 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you suck. You suck. I hope everybody orders espresso martinis today.

01:49:06 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 8:

I got smart and left in Michigan a long time ago.

01:49:09 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 6:

Is it weird that I actually ordered a cold brew today? It's like not the proper drink probably for a day like today. Thank you for the call.

01:49:19 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. The smarts only go so far. But big boobs have gotten them everywhere. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:49:30 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 6:

All right, Megan, what you got for the Dirty on the 30 right now?

01:49:33 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 1:

So the Dallas Zoo has had so many issues in the past 30 days. I'm going to ask you guys if you think this is suspicious or not. Because two of their primates were just stolen. According to the zoo, they've gone through a bunch of these weird coincidences. Coincidences. Earlier this month, the Dallas Zoo had a clouded leopard escape its enclosure where the zoo was shut down. They found the animal on the ground. Officials are saying that that's habitat. was cut through intentionally. Now these two monkeys have been stolen, and it looks like there's evidence in tampering in the restricted area that house that monkeys. They also had, like, a rare endangered vulture that was murdered there. Do you murder an animal? This sounds like an inside job.

01:50:14 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 3:

Somebody who works there is disgruntled. You can't just steal a monkey.

01:50:18 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 2:

No, I think they broke into the, they cut the fence. That's what you said, but yeah.

01:50:23 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 1:

The monkeys were in a restricted area, so that to me says that there were lots of cameras, Lots of...

01:50:30 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 2:

Right. See, I think what it is is I think it's one of those organizations that's trying to, like, free animals and doesn't want animals either.

01:50:35 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 3:

They didn't murder... No, they murdered some animals, too. Yeah. So this is not...

01:50:39 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 2:

But why would somebody that works there want to murder animals?

01:50:41 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, do you guys remember the guy in Ohio who let all of his big cats loose? This gives me very much those feels. Yeah.

01:50:47 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 3:

Like somebody's about to leave the job or got fired from the job. Yeah. But they know their way around the zoo and how to not get caught.

01:50:53 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly. Oprah decided to celebrate her 69th birthday. with some of the most famous women in the world. Who was joining her? Well, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, Sheldon Chopra, Kim Kardashian, name a few. I was wondering, do you think if you go to Oprah's birthday party, it's like an episode of her favorite things and you get gifts?

01:51:15 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Do you have to show up with a gift? Like, what do you buy Oprah?

01:51:18 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 1:

You don't buy Oprah anything. She has her own avocado farm. She does not need anything. Somebody folds her toilet paper before she goes to the bathroom. She needs absolutely nothing in this life. Well, it turns out the party wasn't just for her. It was also the 25th Anna Vashori of Anastasia Beverly Hills. Other attendees on the guest list, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, Jessica Alba, Rita Wilson, and a bunch more.

01:51:42 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 3:

If somebody gives her two monkeys for her birthday, we're going to see how we know exactly what's going on there.

01:51:46 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I did not know that Fifth Harmony wrote a song that has Oprah in it.

01:51:51 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 1:

Michelle Obama worked so hard getting Oprah Dallas. I love that song. When I'm having a really bad day, no lie, I sat in a Kroger parking lot two days ago listening to that song on repeat.

01:52:01 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 3:

Also, you're the only one who streams it, so every time Fifth Harmony looks at their account, they go, oh, Megan had a bad day in Toledo.

01:52:08 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 1:

So everybody who likes Fifth Harmony, if you could just do me a favor and text 95500 right now to prove that they're a pretty popular group. Oh, I know they're a group.

01:52:16 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 3:

That song I'm talking about.

01:52:18 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but I haven't heard my hair. Sorry, I don't know. It took over me. Wait, that's your fighting word? I'm sorry. I was possessed, so I can't, ooh. All right, let's get back to the dirty. Apple is taking over the Super Bowl halftime show sponsorship, so that means Rihanna is taking the stage this year as the entertainment kind of figured that they were probably going to work together on a project. Well, Apple has announced that their streaming service will come down the next two weeks before the game with, like, this Rihanna's Road to Halftime launch. So what is this Rihanna's Road to Halftime? Well, you can now listen to her entire catalog, They've done all these videos for you to watch. And they're doing a collection of 32 playlists featuring the top songs listened to by each NFL team in the locker room, the weight room, and on game day, which I think is pretty cool. Speaking of the Super Bowl, Jason Derulo just got kind of badly injured before his performance. Yeah, he's going to be doing a tailgate performance at the Super Bowl. He is scheduled to do the pre-show along with Black Keys. I did that for you because you like the Black Keys.

01:53:25 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know they were doing it.

01:53:26 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 1:

No, yeah, the black keys are going to be...

01:53:27 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 3:

Jason's real on black keys together.

01:53:29 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 1:

Who knew? Who knew? Well, apparently he broke his foot about three weeks ago playing basketball. He also tore up a ligament. He's walking around with a cane. He got some stem cells injected instead of surgery. But we're going to see how much he's moving around on game day.

01:53:44 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 2:

Jason, you signed this deal probably a while ago. You should be keeping yourself clean of injuries because this is money coming in, my friend. Don't want to screw that up.

01:53:56 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Everybody texting 95500 about Fifth Harmony. I hate all of you. Don't you dare. This is great. You think it's my sign?

01:54:02 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 2:

No. No. Never heard of Fifth Harmony. 265 says that. 414 says Fifth Harmony. Don't they only have two songs? Facts.

01:54:16 - 01:54:16 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:54:16 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 2:

And then somebody 517 said, hey, what's the name with Oprah in it? The name of the song with Oprah in it?

01:54:21 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 1:

It's called Boss. But instead of S's, they're like the money sign.

01:54:26 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 2:

That's how you know it's good. By the way, you know your days really interesting when you're pulling out a deep track on a fifth harmony.

01:54:35 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 1:

Fam, there's no news today. I don't know what to tell you. I tried very hard. No, no, no, no. We love you.

01:54:43 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 2:

You're doing fantastic. Come on.

01:54:45 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's talk about the Jonas Brothers. Have you heard? I'm just kidding.

01:54:50 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 2:

I was just kidding.

01:54:50 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 1:

Have you guys heard of a group called the Jonas Brothers or are they not popular enough for you guys?

01:54:54 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 2:

No, I love the Jonas Brothers.

01:54:55 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Are they relevant enough? Okay, well, they just got their star in the Hollywood world.

01:55:00 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 5:

walk of fame they did in fact pay for that but they did it as good publicity because they made a pretty big announcement while they were unveiling

01:55:08 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 3:

their star we are excited to announce today that our new album the album will coming out may 5th and we can't wait to see you on tour later this year thank you all so much

01:55:31 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 5:

01:55:35 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 2:

who nick jonas you guys you guys know we heard of him that's why we're wondering why it's the

01:55:41 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 5:

01:56:18 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 3:

It's so like

01:56:32 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 4:

Oprah Dollar. You can't even hear him say Oprah. She's saying Oprah or Oprah Dollar? Oprah.

01:56:43 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 1:

Because her purse is heavy. This is the home of the dirty on the 30s. I have to do this with Megan.

01:56:52 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 4:

Check the billboard charts and see where that peaked at. I'd like to know.

01:56:55 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 5:

I will tell you.

01:56:56 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 4:

I would like to know where that song actually was on the billboard charts right now. Right now, Chelsea. Listener Chelsea. I love that name. That's my wife's name.

01:57:07 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Thanks, Mojo. Good morning.

01:57:08 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Hey, Chelsea, we're setting you up. Congratulations, $250 gift card to Kroger and qualified for $10,000.

01:57:19 - 01:57:21 | Speaker 3:

So exciting. My family could really use that.

01:57:21 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 4:

You know what? It'd be awesome, $10,000. So congratulations to you. Hang on the phone for just one second, okay?

01:57:27 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, Marjol. You want to know?

01:57:29 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Big hit.

01:57:30 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so the song charted for 15 weeks, okay? and earned the group their first Top 40 entry on the Top 40 list.

01:57:41 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 4:

And where was it? Where did it go?

01:57:42 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 5:

It peaked at 37. Oh, geez. All right.

01:57:46 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 2:

The two monkeys at the Dallas Zoo had a bigger hit that year.

01:57:50 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 4:

Again, what Spike said was true. Somebody streamed this song today?

01:57:55 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, me. More Mojo in minutes. Mojo in the morning. Find us on Instagram. It's Mojo in the morning.

01:58:06 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 4:

mojo the morning show coming up here in just a little bit uh we didn't get a breakup or makeup for today we're going to try something new and it's an idea that kp has doesn't have to be relationships that you need advice with it could be friendship you know issues that you got going on. So we're going to do a contest this morning that I had to actually censor the word at the end of the thing. So I think I recorded it and censored it. Hold on a second. What is the contest or I'm sorry, the segment called? Am I the a**hole? Am I the a**hole? Am I the a**hole? Yes. So am I the a**hole is how you cleanly say it. We will do that coming up in just a little bit here on the mojo in the morning show uh it's always funny spike isn't it when you talk to people that are dating and you find out some like stories from them of either the craziest you know first dates or some of the craziest things that people will bring up on their first dates well

01:59:16 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

and this just triggered a memory for me as we were just talking to lydia about her bar experience and the guy sitting next door and breaking that personal space barrier uh it's one of my favorite things to do meg and i'll go sit at a bar and we'll just talk to strangers and we'll just chill she'll read a book meg your girlfriend yeah not this meg sitting right here and so uh friday night our bartender told us that she matched with a guy on one of the apps who asked her on a date and as they started chatting he said i want to take you on a date because i have a cheesecake factory gift card to use now that should have been her first red flag but it gets way worse she was down she was like oh you know she thought he was cute she's like i'm gonna meet him well on the first day

02:00:00 - 02:00:07 | Speaker 1:

he talked about his job as a male stripper hell yeah and told her the story about a girl who bit

02:00:07 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 3:

his wiener while he was on stage so i mean did she do damage because that's important information

02:00:15 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 1:

to know before you get i don't with somebody i don't think she even wanted to get that detailed on the first date i just think that's a weird story to share on a first date you look for interesting life stories to talk about and maybe you talk about work more than often but i think there's a certain stories you don't save for the first date maybe that's a way that they say you

02:00:36 - 02:00:41 | Speaker 2:

know like hey show me your scar type thing and he just wanted to get a scar looked at well i said

02:00:41 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 1:

where you know was that a deal breaker for you and she said the whole occupation's a deal breaker she wished she was mad he didn't put male stripper in his profile so she wouldn't have wasted her time because she does not want to date somebody who does that as and she's like that you know

02:00:55 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if that ever happens to other male strippers.

02:00:59 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 6:

I don't think that's common.

02:01:01 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 2:

Actually, this is what a guy with a small has, and then this is the bigger one.

02:01:08 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 1:

So I thought I'd bring up the story of what is the craziest story he told you on the first date that he really shouldn't have shared?

02:01:15 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 2:

Do you say it's only guys, though, that will tell us?

02:01:18 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 1:

No, it could be women, too. But I just feel like guys are more prone to have word vomit because they just are nervous and they start talking too much. And they don't understand the barriers of what makes a good conversation and what's inappropriate for a first date.

02:01:31 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Things not to bring up, probably things better left unsaid.

02:01:33 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a story you tell on the fourth or fifth date. I mean, she was just finding out that he was in the entertainment business, quote unquote.

02:01:42 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. I don't know why it is, though, that to me, Cheesecake Factory would be like, I would be fine with that. I guess as a guy, you'd want to impress, but I would sit there and look at him saying, I've got a Cheesecake Factory gift card as, oh, he's at least being honest with me that he's not going to pull that gift card out and use it.

02:02:07 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, some people might think that's cheap or too cheap for a date. I think it's fine.

02:02:12 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 2:

Is it bad to use a gift card if you're going out on a first date? Does that make you look cheap if you do it?

02:02:19 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 3:

I think especially this time of year, I assume that you just got it for the holidays from your company. I don't think it makes you look cheap. I think if you pulled it out ahead of time and said, we have $50, stick to the budget, that makes you look cheap. I can still order a dessert.

02:02:33 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. Megan, what's happening? Another Megan. A lot of Megans here. What's going on?

02:02:40 - 02:02:40 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo.

02:02:41 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Hi.

02:02:43 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I just wanted to tell you, when I was younger, I got in a car with a guy. I let him pick me up for a date, which this was the last time I ever did that. And as we're driving to where we're going, he says, oh, if you look me up for anything, I was charged with something really bad. But don't worry. I never did that to that girl.

02:03:03 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

02:03:05 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 4:

And I was like, oh, my God. And I was like, how do I get out of this car? I don't have my own car. That was the very last time. I always met at dates from there on out. I was like, I didn't make it home okay, thank the Lord.

02:03:18 - 02:03:21 | Speaker 2:

What did you find out? What was it about him, though, that he was charged with?

02:03:21 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, he had, I don't want to say the word, but he had done something to a girl that was very heinous. Oh, jeez. And spent some jail time and everything. He was actually convicted in the whole nine.

02:03:31 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 2:

But did he have to serve a lot of time, or did he get let out because they found out that it wasn't true?

02:03:37 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 4:

No, no.

02:03:38 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 2:

It was true.

02:03:38 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 4:

It was true. It was years.

02:03:40 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 1:

Wow. I mean, you want to know that, But it's almost like I wish you were just like any and he probably is thinking I'm going to cut to the chase on the first date. So, yeah, I'm not wasting too much time, but maybe just say it in the app or thinking that she already brought it up.

02:03:54 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 2:

Although she already if she looked it up, she wouldn't be on the date with him.

02:03:57 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 5:

Right. Bath. Yeah. Hi. Good morning. What did he bring up on the first date? He told me that he had an STD, but that there was medication I could take that would clear it up pretty quickly.

02:04:10 - 02:04:22 | Speaker 1:

oh my gosh that was going to happen i give him respects though no no you can't just make make that statement is an assumption that i'm going to get some tonight really though i see i would

02:04:22 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 3:

exactly yeah their boundaries maybe he saw it as a way of saying i'm not sneaking this up on you in the heat of the moment i'm giving you time to think about it yeah i just don't think you could

02:04:32 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 5:

have just left it at that but not told me i could take a medication fair you know what girl fair

02:04:37 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 1:

I think in general, you just don't bring it up until you're at that moment because you shouldn't imply this date's going to end with some sex.

02:04:43 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 5:

I mean, we haven't even gotten our salad yet.

02:04:47 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I think STDs are a post-salad conversation.

02:04:50 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 3:

A true appetizer.

02:04:53 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 2:

Jordan? Yeah, how's it going? Hey, we're talking about the thing that you should not bring up on the first date. What was yours?

02:05:02 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, I had a girl, this was about a month and a half ago, told me she studied witchcraft.

02:05:11 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 2:

And was her name Megan?

02:05:14 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 4:

No, her name was Robin, actually, yeah. Kind of threw me off guard on that one. Okay, but what's wrong with that? She had the tools. Well, she had the tools? Oh, yeah, she had witchcraft tools and everything.

02:05:27 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 2:

Were you intrigued and say, you know, cast a spell on me or something?

02:05:31 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, it kind of scared me a little bit. She told me, yeah, you don't got to worry about me putting a curse on you or anything because it's bad karma.

02:05:42 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Yeah, she was trying to explain to you modern witchcraft. It's not, you know, the ancient Greek mythology and movies that you might have thought about.

02:05:50 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer, hi.

02:05:52 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning, Mojo.

02:05:54 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What did he bring up on the first date?

02:05:57 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, he said out of nowhere that he liked the way pregnant women look and he would love to get me pregnant. Oh, my God. Yeah. I literally just met him. That was scary. And I was young, so I just ghosted him after that.

02:06:12 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:06:13 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 1:

Good for you.

02:06:14 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What would you rather have, that one or Bree? What did you find out on the first date?

02:06:20 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 5:

That he had 10 felonies and he was kind of proud of it, too. Okay, but like what kind of felony? that didn't matter but they were drug felonies um because he was selling all sorts of drugs

02:06:37 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 3:

but and he wasn't over that life if he was proud of it then you probably figure you're

02:06:41 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 7:

going to get wrapped up in that well some people would say he's an entrepreneur and a businessman

02:06:45 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 2:

uh what's up august what's up how are you guys doing today good man we're talking about the things that you probably shouldn't bring up on the first date okay so basically what i was just

02:07:00 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 6:

telling her was i went on this date a few months back and i met up with this guy and he wanted me to drive my car so we're driving we go over to target for some reason and he's like out of nowhere he just brings up vr if you know what that is virtual reality yeah yeah and he's like i play vr and all this stuff like oh cool you know i played that a few times he was like he's like yeah i used to um get into vr chat i'm like oh okay he's like yeah but i did some stuff on there i'm like okay what kind of stuff did you do on there and basically he told me he was a male stripper on there and he was making money and making uh male content they have males they have

02:07:33 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 2:

well strippers in general on vr virtual reality stripping yeah i wonder how popular that well

02:07:40 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 3:

somebody told me once it's popular they told me you can go to a vr strip club and you can get a vr lap dance i just assumed it was like a computer i didn't realize there's someone on the other end Performing

02:07:51 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 6:

No it is You get like a full body Like tracking on yourself And you can go in there And you can dance And

02:07:56 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god I found out what I want For my birthday

02:07:59 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 3:

Doesn't that just seem So unsatisfying I don't know

02:08:03 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 2:

The one part about We watch porn But You're living in it I mean I think for a lot of people

02:08:07 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 6:

It's the They call it phantom sense So like when you're in there It feels like it's actually happening

02:08:14 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah And honestly People do only fans And just send pictures and stuff Yeah but you can see that

02:08:19 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 3:

You can see porn for free. This is someone paying to have someone else stick a bunch of little sensors all over the body.

02:08:25 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 2:

Are you videotaping right now? Have you ever watched somebody that's doing VR? Okay. Yeah. So people that do VR. With the goggles on. And they're playing their car games, and they're doing this thing, and they're like, they look groovy. This is me doing VR stripper stuff. I know it's not audible. I was going to say. Let's see the video. Now pretend, pretend the stripper bit you.

02:08:53 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 7:

Okay, but you guys need to watch a show on Amazon Prime called Upload because they have these VR suits that they do this in.

02:09:01 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

And it's very popular. And does the suit move to motions?

02:09:04 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 7:

Yes.

02:09:05 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 2:

Megan, please.

02:09:06 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 7:

I know.

02:09:07 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 2:

Tell me that it's not way too expensive.

02:09:09 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 7:

I think that Jeff Bezos is probably working on it.

02:09:12 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Somebody please tell me where I can get one. Do they have it at Best Buy?

02:09:17 - 02:09:20 | Speaker 7:

Are you telling me you truly wouldn't try it? because I would try it in a second.

02:09:21 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 3:

Because I've got to pay that guy on the other side to have the suit on doing the dancing.

02:09:25 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 7:

Work is work. You've got to pay for labor. That guy, you're paying that guy?

02:09:30 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm saying in this situation, I want to die. Well, the guy on the phone was experienced. I want to see what that guy can do.

02:09:39 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 2:

I've done VR golf before, and let me just say this to you. I'm a much better VR golfer than I'm on a real course. I wonder if I'm better with that.

02:09:47 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 3:

You don't have to pay to go on the VR golf course, right?

02:09:50 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 2:

You pay for the machine. You just buy the goggles in the game.

02:09:53 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

This is like you got to pay extra for that stripper dude on the other side. And I'm like, I'm sorry. If you got to pay, I...

02:10:00 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to feel dumb afterwards that all that, I didn't even get to see a real human and I lost money.

02:10:04 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 2:

What are you really paying for? Company.

02:10:07 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Actually, no, you know what you're paying for? You're paying for nobody else to watch you doing it. That's what you're paying for right there. Time now to do a new feature that KP came to the table in our last meeting with.

02:10:21 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 4:

I think it was Megan's idea, actually.

02:10:23 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 1:

Was it? It was? Oh, I'm sorry.

02:10:26 - 02:10:26 | Unknown:

That's okay.

02:10:26 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 1:

I'm really used to not getting credit around here For what I do I thought this was KP And not you Megan Because I would never think that you would ever use profanity In a title of a Me? Of a potential thing that we're going to do on the show Because it's called Am I the a**hole? Huh? Answer that question Is he the a**hole? I like you today Am I the a**hole? Yes, please But most days, yes. All right. Am I the a-hole is what we're doing right now here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. On the phone with us is Carson, and we also have Peyton on the phone, too. Guys, explain to me real quick. Are you guys roommates? Is that what the story is? Yeah.

02:11:17 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we're roommates.

02:11:18 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:11:19 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:11:20 - 02:11:35 | Speaker 1:

And Carson, are you the one asking the question, am I the a-hole? Yeah. So, Carson, explain to us what happened, and then we're going to decide whether or not we think and the listeners think that you're the a-hole.

02:11:36 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 2:

All right. So, he and I, we met a little over a couple years ago in trade school, and we've been roommates for a little over a year. And his girlfriend, Alexis, lives with us, too.

02:11:52 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 1:

okay so you guys got just the three of you guys live together yeah okay yeah and so he doesn't

02:12:00 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 2:

have a car so he uses a Lexus as a car and I mean one morning I was leaving for work in the morning and then I saw that her car was covered in snow so I wiped my car off first and then I wiped her car off this thing you know be helpful and then that night i come home and he's being short with me right i mean payton was being short with you yeah yeah he was being really weird and then i asked him why he's being like that and he says you know what you did and don't do that crap again did you scratch up the car no i didn't scratch up the car i i all i was all i did was help her clean it up so that she wouldn't have to deal with it so that he wouldn't have to deal with it why wait wait why was he upset with you then i don't know i mean it doesn't make any sense to me but he is saying that he thinks it's wrong because i should stay in my lane

02:13:04 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 4:

oh do you think maybe there was a conversation like you made him look bad because you cleaned it off and he didn't clean it off or does he think you're flirting with her no i i was the

02:13:17 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 2:

first one up okay like it's just i was i was just the first one out there i wasn't trying to like

02:13:22 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 1:

payton let's ask let's talk to payton real quick payton why are you so upset that your roommate is being nice and is doing something nice for your girlfriend uh it's just a little too nice i don't

02:13:39 - 02:13:52 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand why he has to I don't understand why he has to do that You know, it's just a little It's a little weird, you know Why are you cleaning Snow off my girlfriend's car You know

02:13:52 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 1:

First he's cleaning snow, then he's Actually in bed with her

02:13:56 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, slippery snow I mean, I don't know I don't know why he's doing, you know These little things for her, it's just weird

02:14:07 - 02:14:09 | Speaker 4:

What other little things? Did he do other little things?

02:14:10 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, he's cleaning the snow off her car. Like, what's that about?

02:14:13 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, she did one nice thing. You should be like, thanks, bro. I didn't have to put underwear on.

02:14:18 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 3:

Why? She has a boyfriend, though. Why are you worrying about my girlfriend's car and cleaning the snow off it?

02:14:24 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 2:

You're being so paranoid right now.

02:14:27 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 4:

I really don't. I love this guy. He didn't look out the window and go, oh, I better go dust off her car. He was already out there doing his own, so he's like, I got the brush in my hand. Let me do a quickie over here.

02:14:39 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 3:

Maybe I shouldn't say quickie. The vibe is weird. You take all that time to clean off the snow off my girlfriend's car.

02:14:49 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that he wasn't doing it with the intention of trying just to be a nice guy? You think he was doing it with the intention of making you look bad?

02:15:00 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, I think it does make me look bad And I just don't know Yeah, I don't know why you would do that It's strange It's a weird vibe

02:15:10 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 6:

Alright, well here we go We're going to open up the phone lines right now to our listeners And then we're also going to give you the answer that we have Am I the a*****? Yes, that's the name of the thing Mojo in the morning Jennifer

02:15:23 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 4:

I just want to say Peyton, you are immature and self-conscious because my husband would jump for joy if anybody cleaned our car off other than him. Right. I know.

02:15:37 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 6:

Matter of fact, he'd be okay if that.

02:15:39 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 4:

He wouldn't care who it was.

02:15:40 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. He might actually let you have sex with this man for cleaning off the car.

02:15:45 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 7:

You'd do a little under-the-shirt stuff.

02:15:47 - 02:15:48 | Speaker 6:

Brendan, what's going on?

02:15:49 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 9:

Hi. The first guy is definitely not the a-hole.

02:15:52 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 6:

Carson.

02:15:53 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 9:

You need to chill out. This is not a bad situation.

02:15:58 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. It's just a nice roommate situation, right?

02:16:01 - 02:16:09 | Speaker 9:

Exactly. He cleaned up his car for you so you could go to work or go somewhere. It's just common decency, man.

02:16:09 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 5:

Kristen, comment here. Do you think that Carson's the a-hole?

02:16:14 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God, no. The controlling, insecure boyfriend is. I've cleaned off people's cars before and been thanked for not having to wait. They didn't have to waste the time to do it.

02:16:24 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 6:

That's so nice.

02:16:25 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, this guy needs a personality check.

02:16:27 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's so nice. Actually, it's wild. I saw this in a parking lot the other day. I was in a Target parking lot, and it was snowing that day. It was snowing crazy. And there was a guy just cleaning off random cars, like a bunch of cars. That's awesome. And I thought that, yeah, in this day and age, people care about themselves. So we could see if there was anything valuable. He's the a-hole probably in that case. Kira, what's up? Hello. What's going on, Kira? What do you think? Am I the a-hole?

02:16:56 - 02:17:03 | Speaker 3:

No, definitely. You're not. I feel like if he's that insecure, maybe him and his girlfriend need to find their own place to stay.

02:17:03 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's the thing I wonder. And I wonder if, Peyton, is there any kind of issues that you guys have had in your relationship? Is there ever been any unfaithful or outside flirtation that has bothered you before besides this?

02:17:19 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 10:

I mean, there's been some flirtation, you know. She knows I don't like that sort of thing.

02:17:26 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 6:

So that might be the problem.

02:17:28 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 7:

Well, but what's his definition of flirtation? Did he empty the dishwasher?

02:17:31 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 6:

Do you think that she's got a thing for Carson?

02:17:37 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 10:

I'm not saying she has a thing for him. I think he's got something, you know. For her. I think he's like subconsciously trying to.

02:17:45 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 3:

But then why live there? That's weird. If you feel like that, why don't I try to get your own place?

02:17:51 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 10:

Yeah. Well, I'm sorry I can't move, you know, just like overnight. It's a process.

02:17:58 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 8:

uh chanel what's up morning guys good morning good morning hey so isn't payton the one that drives the car though that's true technically like carson was not even cleaning the car off for the girlfriend because yeah he said that he drove the car anyway maybe carson's got a thing for you payton and that's why he's doing it yeah no i think uh payton i think they're just making

02:18:23 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 6:

it weird now yeah i listen i i think that you're overblowing a situation that actually was just

02:18:30 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 8:

nice being nice for sure i think he was just being a good friend

02:18:35 - 02:18:42 | Speaker 10:

listen i live with this person you know i know how he acts and the things he does so it's kind

02:18:42 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 7:

of hard for anybody to you haven't given us any other example of that so that's why we think you

02:18:48 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 8:

sound ridiculous well good luck guys i hope you get it figured out thank you take care of yourself

02:18:57 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 6:

i'd like to have uh carson come and live with uh with us we i've got a couple empty rooms for my kids being away if you would like to you can live with us but you have to not only clean off cars cars you also have to clean off the driveway too can you do that it would be my absolute pleasure

02:19:14 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 9:

You know, but just don't bring your wife or anything over here, babe.

02:19:20 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning, six on sex.

02:19:23 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 6:

Ooh, I pushed the wrong button there. That was bad.

02:19:29 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning, six on sex. Coming up in minutes.

02:19:34 - 02:19:58 | Speaker 6:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Still to come on the show, we have six on sex. We'll get to that in a second. We have the dirty on the 30. Megan in for Shannon, who is out again this morning, and then Spike with the phone scam doing a senseless survey today. So we've got a lot of stuff still to come, and we're on for another hour or so. We've got a lot of topics to come, too. Right now.

02:20:00 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 2:

I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking. Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6.

02:20:12 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 1:

Diamond.

02:20:13 - 02:20:14 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo.

02:20:15 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 1:

Are you ready for this?

02:20:18 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:20:18 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 2:

You're really going to do this to your grandma?

02:20:21 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 3:

Yes. You know I love her.

02:20:24 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 1:

Does your grandma know that you are A, you're bisexual, right?

02:20:31 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:20:32 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 1:

She does know?

02:20:33 - 02:20:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:20:34 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so this is not going to be too much of a shocker for her.

02:20:39 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:20:40 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 1:

But it will be a shocker when she finds out details.

02:20:43 - 02:20:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:20:44 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Does she have any heart conditions we need to worry about? No. Maybe after this.

02:20:49 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 1:

Are you a computer? Because all you're saying is yes and no. I don't know what's going on here. Am I being fooled by somebody right now? No. She might be a bop. Oh, my God. All right, here we go. By the way, I want you to tell me where are the swing sets in this picture. Tell me where all the swing sets are. All right, are you ready to play? Yes. All right, here we go. Grandma is on the phone with us right now. Hi, Grandma. Hi. You're okay with your voice on the radio, right, Grandma?

02:21:17 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

02:21:18 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 1:

How are you doing there, beautiful lady?

02:21:20 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 3:

Fine, you're so.

02:21:22 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Say hello to your granddaughter, Diamond.

02:21:24 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 3:

02:21:26 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 1:

Do you love her? Is she your favorite Grandchild? That's what they

02:21:32 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 3:

All say I love it

02:21:35 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 1:

02:21:46 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 3:

It is car six on set

02:21:49 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay Did you hear that? Will you repeat the name of it for me, Grandma?

02:21:58 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 3:

Six on Sex?

02:22:00 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 1:

Yes. We're going to ask Diamond six questions about her sex life, and you have to stay on the phone and listen to all those answers.

02:22:11 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:22:13 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 1:

Do you think you can do it?

02:22:15 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

02:22:18 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 1:

Question number one, Diamond, in Six on Sex. Tell your grandma and all of us How old you were when you lost your virginity

02:22:28 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 3:

I was 15

02:22:30 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 1:

15 years old Did you ever name, and by the way, is Diamond your real name Or is that to me Really, who was she named after Grandma, what did you name her after, that Rihanna song

02:22:46 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 3:

No, I just figured if she was a girl, she'd be my Diamond

02:22:50 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, isn't that beautiful?

02:22:52 - 02:22:53 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:22:53 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that beautiful? Diamond, you told us that you like to date both male and female.

02:22:59 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I do. That's me.

02:23:01 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 1:

Did you know that, Grandma? You knew that? Yes. Diamond, question number two. How many male and females have you dated over the years?

02:23:14 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I dated two females and seven guys.

02:23:20 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:23:21 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 3:

Which was better? I would say female.

02:23:27 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 1:

Grandma?

02:23:30 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 3:

Yes?

02:23:31 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 1:

Any questions you'd like to ask her? No. Should I move on to the next one?

02:23:37 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 2:

That's all right. We'll ask the questions around here.

02:23:41 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 1:

Diamond, it sounds to me like you like to explore some fun things from some of the things that you were telling us in our little interview that we do. Here's my question to you. Where's the craziest place that you've had sex?

02:23:58 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so at school.

02:24:01 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 2:

At school? Where at school?

02:24:04 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 3:

In the locker room.

02:24:06 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 2:

That's like a stinky place. I don't think I ever think about anything sexual in there.

02:24:10 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 3:

Well, we was young, and we had to sneak into it.

02:24:14 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 1:

So there was nobody there? Was there a gym class going on?

02:24:18 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

Our gym class was outside running around.

02:24:22 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 1:

I loved outdoor gym class.

02:24:24 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 3:

That was my favorite.

02:24:25 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

02:24:26 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 3:

So we both figured out a way to get back inside.

02:24:29 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 2:

Wow, so the teacher never realized you guys weren't there outside?

02:24:33 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

No, our friend was out in the forest.

02:24:37 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 1:

Question number, Grandma, are you still there?

02:24:40 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm still here.

02:24:42 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what was that last bit of noise? What was that noise?

02:24:46 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 2:

that's the moan of disapproval

02:24:51 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

question number four and six on sex diamond have you ever had sex

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 6:

In your parents' or your grandma's house?

02:25:04 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:25:05 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 6:

And don't tell me you had sex in grandma's house.

02:25:09 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:25:11 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for that.

02:25:15 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 6:

Grandma, if she were to come over to her house with one of her friends, you wouldn't let them hang out by themselves, would you? You'd probably chaperone, wouldn't you?

02:25:28 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 4:

I probably would now, especially.

02:25:32 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 6:

Diamond, we're going to change this around because one of my favorite things of doing six on sex is when we have somebody that is over the age of 60 on with us, and we can call it over 60 on sex. Grandma, I'm assuming you're over 60?

02:25:48 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:25:48 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 6:

How many years young are you?

02:25:51 - 02:25:52 | Speaker 4:

72.

02:25:52 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, you look beautiful. Grandma, let me ask you a question in question number five about your sex life. Is that okay?

02:26:05 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 4:

Go ahead.

02:26:07 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 6:

Question number five in Six on Sex, Diamond. We're going to find out from Grandma. What was the craziest thing Grandpa called you in the bedroom?

02:26:21 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 4:

Little Mama, because I'm kind of small.

02:26:24 - 02:26:28 | Speaker 5:

I love it

02:26:28 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 6:

And question number six I'm going to ask it again to Grandma and find out what her thoughts are on this Grandma Besides a bed Where have you had sex?

02:26:42 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 4:

In a car Stop it

02:26:45 - 02:26:50 | Speaker 6:

What kind of car? What year and make and model?

02:26:50 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh my god Oh, Cutlass Oldsmobile.

02:26:55 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say Cutlass. I was going to say Cutlass. You know why they stopped me? They got a big bench back seat.

02:27:01 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Grandma, I'm going to spank you.

02:27:08 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 4:

I would say you're 70.

02:27:14 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 6:

They need to make that car again, Oldsmobile, that line, because I think that our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, They were fornicating more in those Cars than any other car

02:27:25 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 5:

It's the only reason some of us are here

02:27:27 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 6:

That has been six on sex Everybody, that's six questions Diamond, why don't you put your grandma on like Hinge, I bet you there's some good looking guys On there

02:27:40 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 3:

Really? Does grandma flirt

02:27:45 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 6:

Like if you guys are out and about like at You know, I don't know, Meyers or something Does she ever, like, wink at guys?

02:27:52 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 3:

She has a lot of guys my age flirt with her and look at her. So they say she's so young.

02:27:59 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 6:

Grandma. I'm going to flirt with you next time I see you. Will you come down here to the station and pick up Diamond's prize for her? Because she's a winner. Yeah.

02:28:11 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 4:

I've come with her. I love it. I definitely want to meet you.

02:28:16 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 6:

All right. What color was that cut, Liz, by the way?

02:28:20 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 4:

Blue, powder blue. Of course.

02:28:22 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 6:

Six on six, six. Mojo in the Morning, six on sex.

02:28:30 - 02:28:32 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:28:33 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 6:

We're going to do the Dirty on the 30. First off, let me just say we are broadcasting on Channel 955 in Detroit, 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids, 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo. Megan is handling the dirties this morning while Shannon is out recovering from being sick. And what's going on?

02:28:51 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 1:

So Alec Baldwin is going to be formally charged with involuntary manslaughter today. A spokesperson for the district attorney's office said the district attorney and the special prosecutor are fully focused on securing justice for Helena Hutchins. The evidence and the facts speak for themselves. Now, the armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, will also be formally charged with involuntary manslaughter today as well. Apparently, the Sheriff's Department there spent last year investigating how live rounds made it onto the movie set. Gutierrez-Reed and assistant director Dave Halls were the only other crew members believed to have handled the gun that fired on the set. So they have more information than we do. What I find interesting about all this is that Alec's wife, Hilaria, has decided to speak about the stress that her family has been under while on a podcast this week. It's been an emotional time for my family. And I do

02:29:46 - 02:29:55 | Speaker 2:

so want to express to you how grateful I am for your support and your kindness and your reason

02:29:55 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

did she lose what did she lose the accent weird that you asked that

02:30:00 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 4:

her just a few weeks ago so please leave my family in peace and let this all play out okay so let my kids come home and you stay away from them because they asked me mommy what like what are these people doing did you forget your accent it's been an emotional time For my family And I do so want to express to you How grateful I am

02:30:30 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 5:

Wow She is hilarious

02:30:32 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 3:

I love it She showed her Hillary real fast Sam Smith is causing a bit of an uproar Online with their latest video I'm not here to make friends I'm obsessed with this song I think it's so good The video features the singer in What the internet is calling flamboyant attire I call it goals The dancers they have are in drag Or maybe less They're dancing around Sam Video causing some backfire maybe On the internet People saying that there needs to be age restrictions In place on the video because of sexualized content

02:31:08 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 5:

Fear internet What are we going to be outraged about this week?

02:31:10 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god there are bodies on the internet Queer bodies That are not maybe the weight That you would expect I don't know it's just so irritating to me Other people have pointed out Madonna Christina Aguilera Miley Cyrus all have put out very similar videos and there was no protest to those videos so why for Sam Smith huh and it's a good song I'm not gonna lie

02:31:31 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 2:

which is funny to me

02:31:34 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 1:

are you baiting me to say that I like the song because I told you off the air I actually like the song

02:31:38 - 02:31:45 | Speaker 2:

I did not what I was going to say was honestly the music video very okay but the song is great very good

02:31:45 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 3:

some more cops are being relieved of duty following the Tyree Nichols incident in Memphis one of them has yet to be identified. The other is Preston Hemphill, who the Memphis Police Department has confirmed they are currently under investigation. Now, we're not really sure what the role in the incident was or if he's facing possible criminal charges in connection to Nichols' death, but his attorney says that he is cooperating with officials and was not present at the second scene where Nichols was beaten by five other officers. He was at the initial scene, and he was the one that used the

02:32:17 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 1:

taser on him uh ben crump just came out uh ben crump is the civil rights attorney that is representing the nichols family has represented uh many families including george floyd's lammy family he's come out to say that george floyd's family will attend the tyree nichols funeral so that they will uh they will be there attending uh and that tyree's mom um is very happy about that And happy that they will be there. Word is that President Biden may also attend that funeral, too.

02:32:51 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 2:

I wouldn't be surprised.

02:32:52 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 5:

I know he did invite the Nichols family to attend the State of the Union address next week, too, where he's expected to ask for more change from Congress.

02:33:03 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 3:

Two EMTs and a lieutenant who responded to the scene were also fired as to how they handled that situation. Remember how Kanye West was running for president? Yeah, that's actually really expensive to do. And now we're finding out how much he paid his, and I'm putting these in quotation marks, advisors, Milo Yiannopoulos and Nick Fuentes. You know, the white supremacy guys. Well, some FEC filings have come out and he's paid over $40,000 to his official presidential committee. Why was Milo paid this much? It only said for campaign wrap-up services, and I'm not entirely sure what that means. Seems like something a little bit sketchy to just cover up what you've paid people. About a month before that, Kanye paid him a separate $9,995, which is just under the amount you need to claim for taxes, if I am correct. Nick Fuentes was paid as well for his help on this campaign. I say help in quotation marks. According to his docs, he was compensated for travel about $15,000. A lawsuit accusing Marilyn Manson of childhood and adult sexual abuse, sexual battery assault, and molestation was filed in New York. The lawsuit is filed on behalf of a Jane Doe who alleges that Manson sexually assaulted her on his tour bus after an All Ages concert back in 1995 when she was 16. That was not the only incident that she had with him. This continued on for quite a while and involved alcohol and drugs throughout their encounters with each other. His attorney is calling the allegations to the lawsuit vicious lies and said his client will not submit to the shakedown. But Marilyn Manson has a history of lots of allegations from lots of different women, so I'm sure.

02:34:41 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this is a new allegation from a victim coming forward. It does sound familiar, but it's not one of the ones we've talked about before.

02:34:47 - 02:34:52 | Speaker 3:

Right. You can check out all of today's Dirty by going to the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com.

02:34:52 - 02:34:54 | Unknown:

Good morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirt.

02:34:54 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 5:

And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

02:35:00 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 3:

guess who our producer kp ran into oh she's gonna tell you coming up here in a second she ran into them and uh it would always be an awkward time to run into this type of person uh matter of fact some of our listeners probably uh will have to share with us theirs but um kp first off where were you oh good old target oh okay so you ran into him at target and you were where at Target at the time?

02:35:30 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 5:

I was in the return line and I looked over, saw a familiar face that I haven't seen in like eight plus years. I looked terrible too, so that was great. Not that he even matters. I will tell you who he is. The guy I lost my virginity to. Oh, yeah.

02:35:47 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 4:

Hey, pal. How's it going? What were you buying? What aisle? Were you like holding egg rolls? The returns. He was in the return line.

02:35:54 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 3:

Was he returning your virginity to you? No.

02:35:58 - 02:36:06 | Speaker 5:

The best part was he was standing right next to what I would assume is his girlfriend.

02:36:06 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez. Who knows? Did he say hi to you? No. No?

02:36:10 - 02:36:13 | Speaker 5:

No. Oh, really? No. Neither of us said hi. Really?

02:36:13 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 7:

Because I did not see him after that. Oh, I would have looked down on his pants and said, long time, no see.

02:36:20 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 5:

There's nothing to see there.

02:36:24 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 4:

All right. Come on. It was the first time for a lot of people here. We don't need to be slinging insults. Sorry.

02:36:30 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 3:

Did you feel weird seeing him? Yeah. I bet. That's wild.

02:36:37 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 5:

It takes a lot to make me feel weird, and that made me feel weird.

02:36:42 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 3:

Where exactly is the person that you lost your virginity to? Do you guys know where the person is that you lost your virginity to?

02:36:49 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 6:

Thriving, and I'm so mad about it. He's doing super well. He's married. They're happy. And he's bloated. Oh, really? Let's just say, yeah, he's bloated. Bloated.

02:37:01 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 7:

I could have been a rich, rich housewife, you guys. I dropped the ball on this hardcore.

02:37:08 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 3:

That's wild.

02:37:09 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 7:

But he's happy, and I'm happy for him.

02:37:12 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 3:

The girl that I lost my virginity to, we are actually Facebook friends, so I see her and her nice family all the time.

02:37:20 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 7:

The last time I saw the guy I lost my virginity to, I was sloppy drunk in a bar. Oh, no. And they had one of those, like, digital jukeboxes. So I played Ariana Grande's Breakup with Your Girlfriend on repeat. And thank you, next. I was slappy, slappy, slappy, dog. Slappy, slappy, slappy.

02:37:40 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 3:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Anybody have a crazy encounter with the person that they lost their virginity to? Where's the person that you lost your virginity to, Spike Mike?

02:37:52 - 02:38:18 | Speaker 4:

She is, well, I haven't seen her probably since college, but she's, I saw maybe four or five years ago, I saw pictures of her and her beautiful family, and I think she's a dance instructor, like a teacher for kids, so I haven't talked to her in decades, so yeah, I mean, you know, we're all, I was a teenager, so none of us look like we looked

02:38:18 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 3:

when we were 18. Mine had a glow up. So mine actually looks really good now.

02:38:24 - 02:38:27 | Speaker 4:

She definitely aged better than I did.

02:38:27 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 2:

What about you, Mike? She's way better. She's married to me. Really? Good answer. Just kidding. What a good answer. No, she is in Texas. She married a taller version of me, basically. I'm dead serious. The guy looks just like me. He's from Texas, but he's tall.

02:38:46 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 1:

That's funny.

02:38:47 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 3:

Yoshi, hi.

02:38:49 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up, guys?

02:38:50 - 02:38:54 | Speaker 3:

How you doing, Yoshi? Where is the person that you lost your virginity to?

02:38:55 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 1:

So she is actually in the same apartment complex as me, right? Oh, my God. That's weird. Yeah. So me and my wife had gone shopping. And we come back to find out that she's in the same apartment complex. And she's parked right outside of my apartment. Oh, wow. I was like, why in the hell is she parked here?

02:39:19 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 4:

Why is she here? Random? She's not stalking you.

02:39:22 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. She lived at the apartment complex.

02:39:26 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 3:

And who was there first, you or her?

02:39:29 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 1:

I guess she was.

02:39:30 - 02:39:37 | Speaker 3:

Wow. How weird is that, though? Because apartment complexes can be either big or small. Is this a big or small apartment complex?

02:39:39 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 1:

Mine's a small apartment complex.

02:39:41 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh, so you probably see her a lot.

02:39:43 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. My wife knows her on top of that. So she went to her and said hi, and then she just turned around and just kept walking.

02:39:57 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait, does your wife know the story that you lost your relationship?

02:40:00 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 2:

I told my wife My whole sex life story

02:40:05 - 02:40:08 | Speaker 4:

And your wife still walked up and said hi

02:40:08 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, oh yeah

02:40:09 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 4:

They can share something in common

02:40:11 - 02:40:24 | Speaker 2:

My wife Go ahead As long as I tell my wife You know My whole sex life We are like two peas in a pod

02:40:24 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 4:

Two peas Actually you and that girl are two peas in a pod too And an apartment pod What were you going to say?

02:40:30 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 1:

I feel like the girlfriend knew who I was because I had, like, looked over there, and she, like, kind of looked away. And that's just super weird to me considering we have not – we literally have not spoken in eight-plus years. Right. So that's really weird.

02:40:42 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 4:

Your Eskimo sister, she can sense it.

02:40:44 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 1:

That's weird. That's weird.

02:40:45 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. This is even weirder than living in the same apartment complex. Liz?

02:40:51 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

02:40:52 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, where is the guy that you lost your virginity to?

02:40:56 - 02:41:14 | Speaker 6:

He's living at home with his mom. Yeah. And I was, you know, bumbling around, and I found him online, and he invited me over, and his mom was there, and she made us popcorn. What? That's delightful. What? It was so strange. Like, he didn't know how to use it, and I was like, this is strange, but, you know.

02:41:15 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 4:

And did you guys?

02:41:17 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. Again? Get it, girl.

02:41:19 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

02:41:20 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 7:

How many years between the first time and this time?

02:41:23 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, maybe 10. 10 years. That's great.

02:41:27 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 7:

That's awkward, though, that mom knows and makes popcorn

02:41:30 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 6:

That's so bad Because I was like, I'm not going to see you again But your mom is very sweet

02:41:35 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 7:

She was hoping you would finally be the one To take him out of the basement

02:41:39 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, too much, you know

02:41:41 - 02:41:48 | Speaker 4:

Do you know what you've got to look at it as? You ruined him That's why he's at home Sex was so good, you ruined him

02:41:48 - 02:41:56 | Speaker 6:

I know, I'm so sorry Spike does another senseless survey at 950

02:42:20 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:42:21 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 7:

All right. And would you try a product called lasagna-flavored cough syrup?

02:42:26 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm.

02:42:34 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I guess you should. If you're paying for Internet service, you should be able to use it at any time.

02:42:40 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 7:

Any time. Okay. Can you believe it's not butter? Yes. And how many centimeters are you right now?

02:42:47 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 5:

Five, five and a half.

02:42:48 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 7:

Do you know how many centimeters? Six. Would you agree that Yoo-Hoo is just watered-down chocolate milk?

02:42:54 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:42:55 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 7:

And do you mind if I slip into something a little more comfortable?

02:42:59 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:42:59 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 7:

02:43:03 - 02:43:06 | Speaker 5:

And you say this is a survey with who?

02:43:06 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 7:

The U.S. Senseless Bureau.

02:43:07 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 5:

I thought you said three questions a little while ago.

02:43:10 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 7:

Oh, you know what I did? I apologize. I'll wrap this up then with just the last question. If you live in China, you went out for dinner, would you still say you're going out for Chinese? no i really appreciate you being a part of our survey and uh just for the record so i can say are you under the age of 50 or over the age of 50 under and are eyebrows considered facial hair no and why is it uh if ghosts can walk through walls and glide downstairs they don't fall through

02:43:37 - 02:43:42 | Speaker 5:

the floor i have no idea sir but i do have to go why is vanilla ice cream white when vanilla

02:43:42 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 7:

extract is brown milk and if a stripper gets breast implants can she write it off on her taxes as a business.

02:43:53 - 02:43:59 | Speaker 4:

02:44:13 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning show. So a friend of mine is in a new relationship Dating this extremely attractive Lebanese woman She's a very, very beautiful lady He's dating way over his head But he admits it And it's wild because he even will tell me What she sounds like when she's talking to him And she's got like that sensual, like Middle Eastern accent where he has told me before he said he will say to her, you are so beautiful. And she'll go, tell me something else I don't know.

02:45:00 - 02:45:48 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, is that not the greatest? Like, I would just, honestly, I would just pay just to be a fly on the wall with these guys. And he's living this life. And actually, he called up the other day, and he was talking about this. And I was laying in bed with Chelsea. And don't get any crazy ideas. We were actually, at that time, we were watching, I'm trying to think of what show, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's reunion special. Okay. So he's having a conversation with us about the relationship. And then he says, hey, he goes, I have to talk to you without Chelsea there. And I said, okay, what's that? And he goes, I just got to tell you something, something crazy. I'm like, okay, what's going on? And he said, last night we were leaving the restaurant and she said, let's have sex in the car.

02:45:48 - 02:45:48 | Speaker 4:

Hey, yo.

02:45:49 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 2:

Nice. And I said, okay. And he goes, and the whole time, all I wanted to do was call you, and he named a bunch of the other guy friends, and tell you, you're not going to believe what's going on.

02:46:02 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 4:

So, just so I'm clear, he's with a very beautiful woman.

02:46:06 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:46:06 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 4:

He's getting the booty, and he's thinking about his buddies, his men friends.

02:46:11 - 02:46:31 | Speaker 2:

Because I think that this happens, I don't know if women do this, but I think guys do this too, where guys have an experience happen to them, like it could be something very intimate. Matter of fact, think about this. When I was younger and the first time I kissed a girl, all I wanted to do was tell Tom Barrett and Brad Yeager and Brian Yeager and all the guys that I used to hang out with.

02:46:31 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 1:

When you got home.

02:46:33 - 02:46:36 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I wanted to tell them at the moment. I wanted them to see it.

02:46:36 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 1:

If I was in the car having sex, I wouldn't be thinking, I got to call Mojo. That's like, oh my gosh, tomorrow I'm going to blow Mojo's mind.

02:46:45 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, I don't know what the story is, but I think that there's something to being able to tell a friend so that your friend can kind of experience it with you because you can't believe it's even happening to you. Like, you can't even get... He's with a complete smoke show, and he can't believe that this is going on.

02:47:07 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 3:

But you're with a smoke show every night.

02:47:09 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 2:

I understand, but I'm not...

02:47:10 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 3:

So do you call him every night?

02:47:11 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 2:

But no, I'm not having sex with her in a car. I'm going to tell you this, if Chelsea decided that we were leaving, I don't know, wherever, J. Alexander's, and she said, hey, let's have sex in the parking lot, for sure I want to be able to share that with friends. Let me show you real quick. Wait, what? No, I'm not going to show you that. Let me show these guys my friend And what this girl looks like So that you can see just The difference in what they are As far as a couple is concerned Okay Don't put this on video because they'll be mad about that That's him with her Wait

02:47:51 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 4:

What about him

02:47:54 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 2:

He's a man Look at this picture So he's rich

02:48:01 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 1:

He's got money

02:48:03 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 4:

are they looking for a platonic third you know what i don't know but it'd be interesting that would be interesting to see if he would tell everybody i can bring the comedy and that is it

02:48:17 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 2:

snacks i remember the days of being younger and like you're just dating he doesn't well he kind of does i mean he's reminiscing again but i remember the days of being younger when I first got into radio and I was bad in my old days peeping Tom was a bad guy that was my name by the way on the radio did you not know that no oh my god b96 peeping Tom that's a terrible that's a great name it was a phenomenal nowadays it wouldn't work it was nowadays it doesn't work with the wokeness nowadays right Mike it's like it worked but but then kind of I don't know but But I remember after we would like go out, like we would always go out to like the club gigs and things like that, or I would host like an, you know, like a club gig all in I met a girl or whatever. And she came back to my, actually, I was living with my sisters, Pat and Tracy. I did bring, I did bring one girl back and had to hide her in there, in the room. Cause aunt Pat would have been like so upset if I, if I did it. But I remember going back to a girl's house and all I wanted to do was call all the other

02:49:27 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 1:

guys that worked at the station well because it's like shooting fish in a barrel yeah you're they're all drunk at the end of the night you're the ugly radio guy so you know you were shooting above your

02:49:36 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 2:

pay grade and actually to be quite honest with you i wanted to tell them about it twofold one because of i wanted to like have a little brag going two second thing to make sure they didn't actually meet that girl the week before they just because that happened a couple of times that would be a thought for me

02:49:56 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

like in college thinking well she'll sleep with me she'll obviously

02:50:00 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 4:

sleep with anybody but i can think of like even a high school girlfriend where i there was like one thing that i did one story that i only have one story but one story there i was like man i wish i could tell somebody because nobody is going to believe that this even happened right now

02:50:17 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 3:

i'm telling you mike it you know what that is that's that's your um that's your score to

02:50:23 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 2:

touchdown in the homecoming game moment you know yeah but who's that that football player who said act like you've been here before and that you'll be here again. Somebody that wins

02:50:33 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 3:

a championship a lot. And gets laid a lot, too. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 I guess the question I want to ask are there any other guys that feel this way or maybe this is something that you have experienced before when you get done, you meet a girl, whatever it is, you want to share it, you want to tell your friends. And do girls do this? Because I believe women do this. I really do. If Shannon were here today, and she's out sick today, but if Shannon were here today, she would probably say that she and her girlfriends share things with each other.

02:51:05 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 5:

That little gaggle of girlfriends, I'm sure, share everything. Yeah. Maybe not at that moment, though. That ain't a little gaggle, by the way.

02:51:12 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 3:

Did you see how many people were at her birthday party?

02:51:14 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 5:

Who has that many friends? Yeah, I was like, ooh, that's exhausting.

02:51:18 - 02:51:22 | Speaker 4:

That was a lot of people. There'd be a lot of people to text in the moment. The gaggle of girls do share.

02:51:22 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 1:

Everyone has their own name, though. So if you're from, like, Washington, you're D.C. boy, you're military man.

02:51:29 - 02:51:36 | Speaker 3:

Really? So you guys do do that, huh? Oh, yeah. I like to know that. I wonder if any girl that's been with me has ever shared.

02:51:36 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, I guess you don't want to know the nickname. I guarantee they talk about you and they have the, you know, you're the topic of conversation next girls night. Yeah. Like, my thing is I don't think they're calling all their friends like, guess what?

02:51:49 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 1:

Guess where I am right now? I'm in his apartment. I think girls spend more time talking before the date than after the date. It's more like, am I okay? Do I look cute? Versus you won't believe who I... Maybe men just don't meet the bar. What did I say? I meant it.

02:52:05 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 3:

That is probably true. Unless the guy that you're with is somebody like an Adam Levine or a George Clooney.

02:52:11 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 1:

But how many Adam Levines are there out there? Not many.

02:52:14 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 3:

I like to think that I have moments. I like to think that that's the case. Text here says, I'm a guy who doesn't like to share things with my friends, but my friends always share with me, and it's not nice. I don't like that they do that. Well, you're a good guy because you know what? You probably shouldn't be sharing. He didn't share details. All he said to me was, you're never going to believe that this happened, and then that was it. And I laughed, and I said, wow, dude, you met your match. You know what I mean? He actually said it was intimidating. It was very intimidating. I would be intimidated. If Chelsea said, hey, I want to have sex in the car, I'd be like, who took my wife? Where did you come from? Get out of here. I don't trust this.

02:53:04 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 2:

And then you just hear it.

02:53:05 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 3:

You're trying to get me arrested for public indecency and have to go away to jail. What's going on, Amy?

02:53:11 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 7:

Hey, so I have nicknames for any of the guys that I was with. So when I bring them up, they know which one I'm talking about. So there was one in particular He was terrible and bad So his nickname turned out to be Two Pump Chump

02:53:24 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 3:

And you tell your girlfriends all about The Two Pump Chump

02:53:32 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 7:

Oh they know about Each guy and then whenever I want to refer back To him it's by the nickname They don't know their name

02:53:38 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 3:

How does it make you feel to know that the guys do the same thing They tell their guy friends But we don't come up with nicknames because we're not that creative

02:53:46 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 7:

I mean I wish would do nicknames so they're not like giving me my name but i mean i don't assume it's all good

02:53:52 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 3:

stuff so i don't mind and by the way just so you know too pump chump was only too pump because you are so beautiful thank you i'm telling you i had to tell the girls that a lot

02:54:05 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 6:

kelly what's going on hey so i my girlfriends and i tell each other everything and i know exactly how many times my friend had to bake cookies with her husband in order to get pregnant and where they baked cookies at in order to get pregnant. Wait a second, where

02:54:24 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 3:

are they baking cookies at?

02:54:26 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 6:

Just different locations around the city. Really?

02:54:32 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 3:

Is that something that makes it happen faster, like it makes the conception happen faster?

02:54:38 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 6:

I'm not sure, but she tracks some things on an app every day that week That was her special week, so.

02:54:46 - 02:55:02 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Oh, my God. I wanted to share that with you guys because it happened so fast. Like, when Allie got pregnant, I wanted to share it with you guys, but I'm like, they're not going to care. Like, they're not going to care how fast it happened. But I'm going to tell you right now, Steph Curry with the shot. What? It was quick

02:55:02 - 02:55:17 | Speaker 3:

Man, nothing but net Yeah, absolutely That is kind of weird when we're talking about that I'm uncomfortable Do you think Allie's going to be okay with you saying that? I don't know

02:55:17 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys want to hear some Super Bowl stuff?

02:55:24 - 02:55:40 | Speaker 3:

I figured you'd do some Super Bowl stuff Would be kind of interesting Yes, please All right, start off with just a little Super Bowl facts for you. How much money do players get for winning the Super Bowl?

02:55:41 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, because they have different pay grades, right? The losing players get a certain amount, and then the winning team gets a bigger amount.

02:55:48 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 1:

Is it a standard rate? Like, does the quarterback get the same as the kicker?

02:55:51 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I believe so, yes. Players from the winning team get $157,000 as a bonus.

02:55:57 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I thought it was going to be like $3 million.

02:55:59 - 02:56:26 | Speaker 3:

That doesn't include their Super Bowl ring. Each 2023 Super Bowl ring will be worth approximately $30,000 to $50,000. The losing team's players will get $82,000 and no ring. So they at least get something. So at least making it, you get a decent amount of money. You would think it would be a little bit more of that. Think about all the money that the owners of the teams are making. I should get that stat and tell you about that.

02:56:27 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 2:

Plus all the ad money.

02:56:29 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 3:

This Super Bowl, by the way, will be the Super Bowl game that will be the first between two black starting quarterbacks. So two quarterbacks that will be starting, Mahomes and Hurt, are both black. And by the way, it's going to be a fun, I think, Super Bowl because both of them are so good as far as passing the ball but also running the ball, especially Hurt. is probably even a better running the ball quarterback. Will you guys put any money down? Because we told you that yesterday it's like what I think the Eagles are favored by two points. Mike, you're going to put some money down?

02:57:08 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely, yeah, yeah. I think Eagles, honestly.

02:57:11 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 3:

Will you buy squares? Because I've already been hit up to buy squares, and I'll do that. I probably won't put money down.

02:57:17 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 4:

I'll do squares too, but I like to bet on the game itself.

02:57:20 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 2:

I saw last night the odds in the money line already changed.

02:57:23 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 3:

It already did? From two points to what?

02:57:24 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what it went to because I don't bet on when the Eagles are in the big game. I don't bet. I'm superstitious about not betting for that game. But they said it's going to change a lot over the next two weeks.

02:57:38 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 1:

I always love when fans of a team in the Super Bowl bet against their team. So even if their team loses, they win.

02:57:43 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 3:

That's actually a lot of guys that are big professional gamblers like to do that a lot. They kind of like hedge their bet a little bit. Super Bowl food. Chicken wings and guacamole are going to cost you less this year than last year, but beer is going to cost more money. A pound of chicken wings is down 22% from 2022 Super Bowl. And as far as beer is concerned, beer prices jumped 11% from year to year. So beer, if you're going to be drinking, I don't know. Now, it's funny, I don't drink as much as I eat. Like, I like to just eat a ton because we've got to work the next day. Which, there's still, again, like an official, we need to move the Super Bowl. A lot of people are wanting the Super Bowl to move by a week because if it moved by a week, then a lot of people have presidents Monday off.

02:58:36 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 1:

It drives me nuts that we don't have the next day off.

02:58:39 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, they don't want, the owners don't want that. They want you home watching on TV so they could charge all that money for the ads. If it's on a Saturday night, we're all going out.

02:58:47 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 1:

No, keep it on a Sunday, but then do it the weekend of President's Day, so we all have Monday off. You're still going to watch the game. The ads are still going to be viewed.

02:58:54 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 2:

But they think a lot less people will stay home and watch. More people will go to parties or go to bars.

02:59:00 - 02:59:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you're still watching the ads.

02:59:01 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but they don't get as many households. It's like the ratings game of how much they can charge per viewer.

02:59:06 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 1:

Let's be honest. It's the best ads of the year. It's the one time of year we actually want to watch the commercials. Are they crazy?

02:59:12 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, the other thing is, nowadays we see all the ads before the Super Bowl. Yeah, there's very few surprises anymore.

02:59:19 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 4:

And if they put it just on streaming specific, you could still get the you could still get the ratings. If you took it off of TV in general, just put it on streaming.

02:59:28 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Alexa predicted the date World War Three will start. Yesterday, we told you the story about how that one general said that we were going to be at war with China in 2025. Alexa predicts earlier will be World War Three. Let's see if I can get the audio to run.

02:59:46 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 4:

World War III starts on November 23rd, 2023 at 6.05 p.m. When Russia launches an attack against Germany.

02:59:58 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

How do they come up with that?

03:00:00 - 03:00:03 | Speaker 1:

Alexa, when will World War III start?

03:00:05 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 2:

World War III starts on November 23rd, 2023 at 6.05 p.m.

03:00:11 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that's wild. I wonder why.

03:00:13 - 03:00:19 | Speaker 2:

That's Thanksgiving, and I think she means that World War III will start when my drunk uncle brings up politics at the table.

03:00:19 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 5:

No, that's when the doors open for all the Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving. That's when the doors open. Yeah.

03:00:25 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 1:

I mean, for Alexa to get that specific, I'm surprised that they would do that. I'm surprised that Amazon, by the way, has not come out to say anything about this.

03:00:35 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 3:

You can also make Alexa say things, if you say Simon Says. So he could have easily just...

03:00:40 - 03:00:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, could have been a hoax to go viral.

03:00:43 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 5:

Mike.

03:00:44 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 1:

Can you have your Alexa say that they love waking up with Mojo in the morning?

03:00:50 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't have an Alexa here, but all you got to say is Alexa, Simon Says, and then say that, and it'll say that exactly.

03:00:56 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Sitting in traffic for just two hours can lead to brain damage. Breathing in diesel exhaust fumes from other traffic actually impairs your brain. So if you're stuck in, like, bad traffic, like afternoon rush hour traffic, which seems to be the worst of the rush hours, that it actually could cause brain damage, according to a neurological study that was just recently done. I mean, I don't know if you're necessarily breathing in those fumes that much. You kind of can change, can't you, your air and how it's coming in? You can, like, recirculate your own air that you have.

03:01:32 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 2:

I know people that, like, sit in tunnel traffic for a half hour every day going into the Manhattan and stuff. So I guess if you have nowhere else to go, you're going to breathe in.

03:01:42 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 1:

You're stuck in it, yeah. A new study finds that over half of us are still sleeping with an ex. 2,000 people surveyed 53% of us are still sleeping with an ex partner or maintaining an amicable relationship with them nearly 70% of those surveyed admitted that they have made attempts to stay friends with their ex while actually a high percentage of those 57% of them say that at At some point in their ex-relationship, they've tried to get that ex to sleep with them, many of them saying that they've had success with ex-sex. That's wild.

03:02:27 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 5:

That's crazy. That's crazy. Actually, it's nice.

03:02:31 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 1:

It's nice to actually know that people are, you know, they're that amicable with their exes.

03:02:37 - 03:02:38 | Speaker 5:

I agree. I just wish I had that.

03:02:39 - 03:02:43 | Speaker 2:

Maybe they're not amicable. Well, it's just the one thing they miss that they don't argue about.

03:02:43 - 03:02:58 | Speaker 1:

That's true. People are using Venmo to get dates. Yeah, this is becoming more and more common where they're finding love by sending messages with flirtatious little things on them and even sending money to somebody through Venmo.

03:02:58 - 03:03:00 | Speaker 2:

That gives sugar baby vibes, doesn't it?

03:03:00 - 03:03:19 | Speaker 1:

A relationship expert claims that using Venmo to approach a stranger comes across as a bad move, but a lot of men say that they find that that is a pretty successful way to get a woman to respond to them. You're okay with it, right? Aren't you? I mean, Megan, I mean, wouldn't you want somebody just sending you money?

03:03:19 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh, 100%. If you want my Venmo, actually.

03:03:22 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm just going to do it right now.

03:03:24 - 03:03:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was going to ask, but Megan being the only female in the room, I was going to ask like is that wouldn't you rather just be hit on than have them know you 20 dollars give me your

03:03:34 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 1:

money give it um another poll uh that is out and this is actually a decent amount of people too 2 000 people claims that 25 percent of millennials are still having their rent paid for by their parents what yep what my dad they didn't pull him the top three the top three expenses still paid by parents of millennials 19 rent 19 groceries 16 utilities oh no you missed the big one still on my dad's phone plant yes i forgot actually that's that's an interesting one when i when i was switching over to xfinity mobile it was like do i take joe off no no how dare you

03:04:20 - 03:04:42 | Speaker 5:

how dare you because those phone contracts were so much better than what we are offered now and it's so much way to say but he's got a full-time job for three years you know what if you he moved out if you loved me you would want me to get the best deal possible and i love my father and i pay for his netflix and hulu so he can pay for my phone so you guys actually will rotate through

03:04:42 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 1:

what you have to pay for and what you don't have to pay for we talked about it one time because i

03:04:45 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 5:

did feel bad but it genuinely is so cheap for me to be on his phone plan versus on my own

03:04:49 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 1:

um this is an interesting survey a career coach warns that if you are really hot that you're going to have a harder time succeeding on a job interview that pretty privilege exists so you don't think that this is the case yeah this this career coach

03:05:09 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 5:

goes on to say hold on let me see if i can uh i can play this audio it's actually it was on tiktok the career coach goes on to say that um you're uh against you there's a bias because i

03:05:23 - 03:05:46 | Speaker 2:

don't know this like I have not personally experienced this um but I know candidates who have actually have to go the other direction and play it like really warm and really down to earth people feel like they're getting a sense of who you are not just this like perfectly polished version because polish is not what people hire so be a human so she was she's no she's saying

03:05:46 - 03:06:03 | Speaker 5:

that you should try to down, you know, down dress when you go. Don't dress up so nice. Don't put too much makeup on. Don't try to look too nice. Try to look a little bit more average in your look because you probably won't get that job that you're looking for if you look too good.

03:06:03 - 03:06:15 | Speaker 1:

She literally said you have to act warm so that you don't come off as cold and just beautiful. What she said was act like a human being because that's how you connect with people.

03:06:15 - 03:06:24 | Speaker 4:

And how do we know that they didn't just have a crap interview Or they're just really dumb But they came back and they're like I didn't get it because I'm so hot They were intimidated

03:06:24 - 03:06:39 | Speaker 5:

Well she goes on to say that if you are being interviewed By a woman Compared to being interviewed by a man That you have less of a chance of getting that job Because women judge other women's looks I'm just saying what she says

03:06:39 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 1:

Out of all of the bosses that I've had I've had great bosses Working for women has always been the best Because you don't have to worry about that kind of stuff

03:06:48 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 5:

You're saying that women Female bosses don't judge you On your looks

03:06:52 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 1:

Not nearly as hard as male bosses do Men Hello

03:06:58 - 03:07:00 | Speaker 5:

Hello

03:07:00 - 03:07:03 | Speaker 4:

03:07:54 - 03:07:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. I never worry about her swearing, so she never says it. She always comes up with that word.
