All right, let's get this thing started. It is mojo in the morning. Depression sets in after that game last night, but it is Friday.

00:03:36 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 3:

That makes it a little better, right?

00:03:38 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 6:

It does. Although this would have been a totally different Friday. You know, the Tigers would have won last night. We would be going crazy this morning. I think there'd be no more air in our air horn. We have a great show for you. What do you want to hear? Throwbacks. Something that you haven't heard in a while. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Throwback throwdown this morning. Who's going to win? Your chance to get $500 from the Imagine Theaters. We got tickets to see the Red Wings play this weekend. And we're giving you cash. Pay your bills this morning here on the show. Come on.

00:04:16 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Is it Friday already? Countdown started.

00:04:19 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning.

00:04:22 - 00:04:22 | Unknown:

Friday. Friday.

00:04:22 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 3:

It's time to kick off the weekend.

00:04:33 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Here we go. Welcome to the Mojo, the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo, Mojo in the morning show. Welcome to the Mojo, Mojo in the morning show. We have got your Mojo, Mojo in the morning show. this is the mojo mojo in the morning show we have got your mojo mojo in the morning show don't even bring that up by the way come on

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be the last 70-degree day probably of 2024, so go.

00:05:04 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the morning show. This is the Mojo in the morning show. Oh, no. He's shutting down. Oh, no. Because once one of us gets sick, we all go down.

00:05:26 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. I'm just sad, guys.

00:05:30 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 2:

You got Tigers, bluet fever. Tigeritis. It's depressing. So depressing. It would have been such a great, great way to kick off the weekend if the Tigers would have held down to that lead. That home run, by the way, destroyed the hearts and souls of everybody. The biggest crowd in Comerica Park history last night at Comerica Park. I don't know how they say that's the biggest, but they said that there were so many people. There were people standing outside on the street watching it from outside there right by the DAC and stuff. Can I say something about that game last night? The air got let out of that stadium. And once the air got let out of that stadium, I feel like the people that were riding this great ride that we've been riding all kind of were like, it's over with.

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 3:

Really? I hope not.

00:06:23 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

We got to rely on Tarek Skubel again. I don't care what you got to do. Carrick, you've got to throw in tomorrow night's game.

00:06:32 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 3:

He'll be locked in. They said that he's going to be on the mound tomorrow. They cut to him late, I think, in the eighth inning. He looked focused. He looked ready. I'm concerned about Kerry Carpenter. He pulled up with a hamstring. He should have been in some of those late at-bats.

00:06:44 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 2:

He would have been up to bat in the ninth inning, yeah. Can I say something? I don't know how you guys are with this. I'm a depression eater. I went into my refrigerator, and I ate an entire thing of rice pudding when that game was over with. Chelsea's like, are you coming? She's like screaming at me. I'm in the living room. She's in the bedroom. She's like screaming, are you coming to bed? And I'm like, no. Is rice pudding hanging out of my mouth? I think I might need to stress eat today too. What's a good depression meal? What should we do for breakfast? Let's get like a depression breakfast meal.

00:07:23 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

Like French toast.

00:07:24 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

It's got to be heavy.

00:07:25 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:07:26 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

It's like Taco Bell or something. I don't know.

00:07:27 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

I was thinking breakfast food.

00:07:29 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 2:

No, I don't know. Whatever. I'm trying to think.

00:07:32 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 1:

Let's go next door.

00:07:33 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

What's your depression meal? What do you eat when you're depressed? Because for me, everything is mine.

00:07:40 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Typically, I do not fall into that category of being depressed and finding my way through it through food. What do you do? But two weeks, I just get tired. I think I find escapism. Yeah, I get tired. I don't want to do anything. I watch TV. but I had a moment last week when I talked about how I was like super overwhelmed and like my mom was asking me to get medications that night I broke down and I was like man I need some Culver's

00:08:06 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

I went to Culver's I got a large by the way I just looked on

00:08:14 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 2:

DoorDash right now you know what's on DoorDash this would be a total depression meal White Castle

00:08:19 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

I'd be depressed after I ate it

00:08:22 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

it depends how many you get though if you get in a Crave case

00:08:24 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

No, no, sometimes that's just comforting and warm. You don't need 30 burgers. What can we get right now? Here are your depression meals.

00:08:35 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

Ready for this? Krispy Kreme. All right, we can get Krispy Kreme donuts, which, by the way, would be unbelievable. I'd be crapping my butt off.

00:08:45 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 1:

That should be the Krispy Kreme dog.

00:08:48 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 2:

Speedway Cafe Pizza. Is that the Speedway gas station? Yeah, you're depressed. They make pizza this early in the morning?

00:08:55 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

That's gross. And you stand there face to the glass and the hot dogs as they turn. And they're in a cold bottle.

00:09:02 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

You're in a bad spot.

00:09:04 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Tim Hortons.

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

We could get a lot of Tim Hortons if we wanted to.

00:09:07 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 1:

I do love sour cream glazed donuts. I like Tim Hortons, dude. That's a good one. I do listen to me. I do too, I do too.

00:09:14 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

A box of Tim Bits? 40. Yeah, you can, oh, whoa.

00:09:18 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 1:

Hey, that was judgmental. 40. That's 40 bites.

00:09:21 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 3:

But it's like, okay, there are seven of us. Okay. I thought it was like a personal.

00:09:25 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, also, yeah, pretty nice.

00:09:28 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 2:

Would Panera bread be too healthy for us? Yeah, that is boring. I don't like it. Then there's a lot of bagel places, like local bagel places that are on our thing here.

00:09:40 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

You know what one is? If you eat a whole carton of ice cream. Oh, yeah.

00:09:44 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Which isn't that difficult to do. Like a carton of ice cream? Like one of those this size carton? Yeah, the Rekstangles ones. Yeah, those. Briars? No. With the big spoon.

00:09:54 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Graters.

00:09:55 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

Which one?

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Graters.

00:09:57 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 2:

Graters.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

I love Graters. Or Jenny's. Jenny's.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 2:

Who makes Moose Tracks? It's like a red. No, Moose Tracks is West Michigan. Why am I? No, why am I brain farting?

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, blue.

00:10:08 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 2:

No, not blue bunny. Why am I brain farting? I can't believe it. Oh, Hudsonville. Hudsonville. Hudsonville Moose Tracks. Sorry, I couldn't believe it either. Yeah. Isn't Hoffs made in? Strolls. That's what I'm talking about with the red. Strolls was the best. How about Ray's? Ray's ice cream.

00:10:22 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh my God, Ray's ice cream.

00:10:23 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 2:

A big container of Ray's. What's going on, Bridget? How you doing?

00:10:27 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you, Mojo?

00:10:29 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 2:

Good. We need a depression meal from you today. We're so depressed.

00:10:33 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 6:

I do a Taco Bell breakfast or pancakes.

00:10:37 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

Taco Bell breakfast is good. What do you get at Taco Bell for breakfast, guys?

00:10:40 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 5:

A Crunchwrap. I do the Crunchwrap. It's all breakfast food, so it's...

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 2:

With eggs and everything like that?

00:10:47 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:10:48 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Do you think they're real eggs at Taco Bell?

00:10:51 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 5:

No.

00:10:52 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 2:

Do we care?

00:10:53 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, you know who's up right now is Chef Tom from Hudson Cafe, and they open a Northville location, and we can get cinnamon roll and red velvet.

00:10:59 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Tom.

00:11:01 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to text him. Do you want something for real?

00:11:04 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 2:

Yes. What's up, Kelsey? Hi.

00:11:05 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 5:

We'll do it. Hi. So my depression eating would be breakfast pizza.

00:11:12 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 2:

Ooh. Who does a breakfast pizza?

00:11:15 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 5:

The subway. What? Speedway. Speedway? Yeah, they do breakfast pizzas.

00:11:21 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

I am so depressed I will eat food from a Speedway. That's how depressed I am today. What's on the pizza, Kelsey?

00:11:29 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 5:

Um, like scrambled eggs, um, sausage, bacon, and then I believe it's the, um, sauce you put on biscuits and gravy.

00:11:38 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. Like the big old clumpy stuff. I love it.

00:11:42 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so good. This is good.

00:11:44 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Kelsey, are you as depressed as we are today with the loss last night?

00:11:48 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Very, very depressed.

00:11:50 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

I thought this was really going to happen last night. We got to do something tomorrow. Otherwise you guys are going to be seeing me probably eating even more. What's going on? Chloe, hi.

00:12:00 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning.

00:12:02 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 2:

What's happening? We're looking for a good meal to kind of whisk our depression away.

00:12:08 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 6:

So mine is disgusting. I started it in college. I would go to the Walmart deli and get a little container of their chicken salad and then scoop it and eat it with hot Cheetos.

00:12:20 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wow.

00:12:22 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 5:

That's a terrible combo.

00:12:25 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 6:

You would think, but it's actually really good.

00:12:28 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 2:

They don't mix the chicken salad themselves, do they? Is it like pre-bought stuff? Because I don't know if I'm trusting Walmart for making my pre-made chicken salad.

00:12:37 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 6:

You know, it's surprisingly good. It has grapes and celery and the dried fruit in it. You've got to give it a chance.

00:12:45 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 2:

You're not eating grapes and you have chicken salad? That's fancy salad at Walmart. I've never seen that. Michelle, what's happening?

00:12:52 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:12:53 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

Hi. What did you eat once when you were so depressed?

00:12:55 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 4:

my girls would literally um they would eat an entire chocolate cake okay and i would come downstairs in the morning and there'd be a happy birthday cake brought back from kroger and i'm like nobody's birthday is today they're like listen megan just got broke up with last night mom don't judge us i love that that's a great idea go to kroger together just grab the

00:13:23 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 2:

grab the happy birthday cake you know what's funny is the second second time that a chocolate cake was brought up on the air this week that's right so the the first time michelle was uh in bed that

00:13:33 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:

was their in-bed meal that they would have after sex i remember that one yeah i listened to that one yeah yeah no this this one was not in well they may have taken it to bed and comforted it but knowing my girls they're clean freaks they would never have done that oh man you're a good

00:13:50 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 2:

mom uh all right well we're gonna have to figure out what's going on here if you don't get a hold of tom then it's gonna be really want to text him honestly i think we should do like a it would be fun to do like a uh a smorgasbord we all everybody gets to order from one place and we put it all together can you imagine you ever do that with your friends where it's like you get three friends together and one orders from you know one place one orders from another and you kind of put them all together on the center counter you know it's fun all right it's fun patrick patrick what did

00:14:23 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 3:

you eat once when you were depressed pat yes hey hi so hi yes i ate once a whole jar of nutella

00:14:34 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 5:

from costco oh the big guys okay those are big ones but patrick the question is did you use a spoon or did you use your grubby little meat paws? No, I took a big spoon. There you go. You know

00:14:46 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

what? I'm proud of you. Yeah, that was pretty amazing. I did not feel good after, that's for sure. How soon were you on the toilet Nutella-ing out? No, I was fine. I had no problems. That's amazing. Entire thing of Nutella.

00:15:00 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 3:

That's impressive. All right, we've got to take a break. We'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning. I promise you we're going to not make this a depressing show. We'll make it fun for you.

00:15:08 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:12 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Shannon with an update for us on what's trending in the Dirty on the 30, Shannon.

00:18:16 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 1:

So an update on what's going on with Diddy. He's going to be going to trial now in May on all of those federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. Yesterday, he was in court. A judge set a trial date of May 5th at this hearing in New York City. That trial expected to last around a month, at least a month. And much to Diddy's dismay, he will remain behind bars until that trial happens. Prosecutors said 96 electronic devices were seized in those raids on Diddy's two residences back in March. Another four were seized when he was arrested last month, leaving investigators with an extraordinary 90 terabytes of data to go through. That's going to take some time. So here's the thing. The indictment could be updated once they go through all of that to add even more charges or even more defendants. Floridians are picking up the pieces after Milton made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane this week. And an awful update. More than a dozen people have died. And the state is anticipating more casualties as they continue to go through the wreckage. More than 2.6 million people still without power this morning due to Milton. This is Governor Ron DeSantis.

00:19:32 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 2:

There may be opportunities that some people think they can take advantage of. I'm warning you don't do that. If you loot, you will be held accountable. If you're doing things that violate the law, if you're going to try to take advantage of vulnerable people, we're going to throw the book at you. I mean, we even had some jackass chain a dog to a pole as the storm was coming. Florida Highway Patrol rescued the dog.

00:20:00 - 00:20:04 | Speaker 4:

in Tallahassee. Honestly, it's a good dog, but I mean, it's traumatized from that.

00:20:04 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 3:

Saw yesterday, Mojo, that your boy Tom Brady is donating $100,000 to the victims of Hurricane Milton. He revealed that GoPuff, which is a goods and food delivery company, will match his donation. All of the benefits are going to go to the Volunteer Florida Foundation.

00:20:20 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 4:

There we go. Actually, Jed sent me something yesterday, and Joe talked about it, but there's a lot of these organizations where the money is not helping. Yes. The organization that the Joe Show is connected with is FeedingTampaBay.org. If you are looking to make any donations, the big national ones, the guys.

00:20:40 - 00:20:45 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, I don't want to say names or disparage anybody, but be really careful about who you're giving your money to.

00:20:45 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the problem is that a lot of that money doesn't even help, in some cases, hurricane relief. It will help them with other projects that they have throughout the years. So if you want to truly help those that are affected by this, look for the organizations that help specifically people in North Carolina and Florida that are dealing with this.

00:21:06 - 00:21:44 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Sabrina Carpenter admitting that her summer smashed espresso just might be a bit overplayed. Just a little bit. She knows. She's aware. She was honored at the Time 100 Next Gala in New York last night. She performed a couple of songs, including Please, Please, Please. But before doing this song, she told the crowd, if you're sick of it, I truly am very sorry. If not, sing along. And everybody, of course, got up and got out of their seats. By the way, that evening featured tributes to the Time 100 Next list, which included NBA star Jalen Brown, Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlin, and Victoria Monet, also on the list.

00:21:44 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 4:

By the way, we're more sick of Miguel. No, we're not. Yes, we are. No, yes, we are. I like Miguel.

00:21:52 - 00:21:58 | Speaker 3:

00:22:16 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to get to the 5 at 6.55. I want them to get a little early with it because I want to say hello to Jill and her challenger and find out what they got going on this weekend. Hi, Jill. How are you doing? Good. How are you guys? Good. Jill's rolling through the week here and hopefully we get you back next week maybe unless Taylor is going to be our channel. Taylor, do you think you can knock off Jill this morning?

00:22:41 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to give it my best shot.

00:22:43 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 4:

What do you guys got going on this weekend? What do you got going on this weekend, Jill?

00:22:48 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 5:

Um, not too much birthday parties for my daughter.

00:22:53 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's cool. Yeah, that doesn't sound, boy, is that how moms treat birthday parties for their kids?

00:22:59 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 5:

Not much. It'll be fun for the moms and for the kids.

00:23:03 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay, good. All right. What about you, Taylor? What do you got going on this weekend?

00:23:07 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 5:

Currently, we are on our way to our son's hockey tournament in Holland, Michigan.

00:23:12 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. Okay. How old's your son?

00:23:15 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 5:

He's seven.

00:23:15 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 4:

And what team does he play for?

00:23:18 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 5:

He plays on the St. Clair Shores Nordiques 2017. Go Nordiques. All right.

00:23:24 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 4:

We're going to lock up Jill in a soundproof area. Let's get to that. Let's get to the Hockey Mom, Taylor. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. And what's your son's name?

00:23:39 - 00:23:39 | Unknown:

Gus.

00:23:40 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 4:

Gus. Oh, my God. Is that not a great name?

00:23:41 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 3:

I love that name.

00:23:42 - 00:24:11 | Speaker 4:

You definitely got an Eastside Detroiter there with Gus. Yeah, yeah. I love it. All right, here we go. Question number one. Blake Lively and her husband donated a million dollars to hurricane relief efforts. What superhero does he famously play? Deadpool. Question number two. This rapper, real name, Balkalis Almanzar, is celebrating her birthday today. What is she better known as?

00:24:12 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 5:

Cardi B.

00:24:14 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Three seconds. Cardi B. Cardi B. Question number three, Sabrina Carpenter is apologizing if you're sick of her hit song, the song that contains the lyrics. Now he's thinking about me every night. Oh, isn't that sweet? I guess so. What's the song? And question number four, this Truth Hurts singer used to be a vegan, but has recently started eating meat and other animal proteins to lose weight. Who is she?

00:24:49 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 5:

Lizzo.

00:24:50 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

And question number five, the Detroit Tigers are going to be playing a very important game five against the Cleveland Guardians tomorrow night.

00:25:00 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 1:

What team will they face when they win the American League and play in the American League Championship Series? I have no idea. I knew I was going to get caught up on sports. Wow, and you're a hockey mom. Well, you're not a baseball mom, right? All right, we'll pass on that one.

00:25:15 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 2:

I actually am.

00:25:17 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 1:

All right, here we go.

00:25:18 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 2:

Still did great, though, Taylor. You got four to five. Yeah, that was good.

00:25:22 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 1:

I was surprised by what she missed, but Jill, let's see what you got here. Question number one. And Blake Lively and her husband donated a million dollars to hurricane relief efforts. What superhero does he famously play? Deadpool. Yes. One to one. Question number two. This rapper, real name Belkalis Almanzar, is celebrating her birthday today. Who is she better known as? Cardi B? Yes. It sounded like a guess, was it? It was. All right. Question number three. Sabrina Carpenter is apologizing if you're sick of her hit song that contains the lyrics. Now he's thinking about me every night. Oh, isn't that sweet? I guess so. What's the song? Espresso. Yes, Espresso. All right. She's got to miss these next two questions, Taylor, so that you can win. She gets at least one of these right. She wins with a tie. Question number four. This Truth Hurts singer used to be a vegan, but now has started eating meat and other animal proteins to lose weight. Who is she? Lizzo? Yes. Four. And a clean win. If you get this one, the only question that Taylor missed, the Detroit Tigers are going to be playing a very important game five against the Cleveland Guardians tomorrow night. When they win, who will they face in the American League Championship Series? The Yankees. Yes. Perfect score. Nice job. Good win for you. All right. Yeah, the Yankees ended up winning last night and are waiting on the winner of tomorrow night's game, which, by the way, the game tomorrow night, if you're trying to match, like, football and stuff like that that's going on, is an 8 o'clock game time. I wonder sometimes. She said, when we win. Yeah, when we win, exactly. I wonder if, you know, because we've been playing a lot of day games or mid-afternoon games, And then last night was our first night game. And then tomorrow night, we got an 8 o'clock game. I don't know. Sometimes I'm always so superstitious about changing anything up. But Tigers tomorrow night against the Guardians. We got a parting gift for you, Shannon. Last night, you were hanging out at this place. And I don't know if you want to tell Taylor about it, but it's a cool place.

00:27:40 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Glenlord Trails in Commerce. It's super fun for kids and for adults as well, because you can drink, by the way, when you're there. But it's like a lighted trail through the woods with all sorts of Halloween-type of decorations and themes. So it's a really, really cool event. I encourage you to check it out before Halloween. I think they do a holiday one, too.

00:28:01 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 1:

Do they?

00:28:02 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:28:02 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's cool. Glenloretrails.com. And actually, we're going to talk in just a little bit about something fun for all the parents when they go to. Shannon's got a story from last night to tell us. Here we go.

00:28:14 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:28:17 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the Mornings show. Good to have you guys here with us. I got to give a special shout-out this morning. Tonight is homecoming, and I want to do a shout-out homecoming for South Lyon High School. And especially want to shout-out a junior superstar on the football team, Declan Chalosky. Okay, Declan! And he is going to be there. And I wanted to tell him that, Declan, you have the best parents in the world, best family in the world. We love you. His mom actually texted me last night and was saying, hey, can you shout out Declan? This is kind of a cool thing. You ready for this? Declan's grandpa coached the South Lion football team for 20 years. He's in the Hall of Fame right now. He actually has a plaque hanging at U of M. and Declan is wearing the pride number 50 and playing in the same jersey that his dad wore back in the day. Wow. So his dad played football back in the day there, too.

00:29:24 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 2:

What a great story.

00:29:26 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

This kid's amazing, yeah. But South Lyon High School, superstars. Go out there, get a win, and then, Declan, you behave yourself at homecoming. I know your mom and dad well, so I don't want anything crazy. I don't want to hear any stories, all right? Actually, he's a good kid. He's one of those kids that, you know, sometimes you got those kids that you know that are, like, friends of your family. You're like, oh, that kid's kind of a goofball. This is one of those good kids. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Had kind of fun. I went out to dinner. I got to tell you guys this story. So I went out to dinner, and you met me.

00:30:00 - 00:32:12 | Speaker 3:

may know this person's name i think you will especially if you're a pistons fan do you remember jonas jurebko who played for the detroit pistons back in the day of course we uh i think he's he's swedish we drafted him a couple like second round or whatever and then he eventually became like a starter he became like a the a starting forward when i think tayshaun went down and he played 10 years in the nba played uh for detroit played for boston played for the golden state Warriors, actually played in a championship for the Golden State Warriors, went out to dinner with Jonas, and we were hanging out, and it was Chelsea's first time ever meeting him over time. I've met him before, you know, with doing some stuff with the Pistons, and his wife and kids couldn't make it, so Jonas came, and I said to Chelsea, I go, Chelsea, Jonas and his wife could be the best-looking couple I've ever seen, because Jonas is a good-looking guy, but his wife is a Swedish underwear model. Oh, to the Googles. Yes. Which Chelsea, when I said that to her, Chelsea right away goes, oh, do you have a picture? I'd love to see. Oh, that would be my question. I'd love to see a picture of your wife and your kids. And Jonas goes into his phone. And I've never seen this before. And this is why I'm calling his ass out right now. He goes to his phone and goes into his phone's camera, you know, the photos on your iPhone. And he cannot find a picture of his wife. who doesn't have a picture of their wife in their phone i don't know i was like blown away by that that's why he doesn't he had he had pictures of his kids so he had a bunch of pictures of his kids and he had pictures of like basketball stuff but he did not have any and by the way i'm going to tell you this i looked through his phone he gave me his phone there were no other girls in his phone so he's not a typical athlete you know that you hear these stories about so there was nobody else it was just his kid he had not one that's his wife right there oh she's a baddie this is a fan page she's smoke show yeah he'd get crazy yeah what was his like did you say how how do you not have photos of your gorgeous stunningly gorgeous way he kind of jokingly goes he goes oh my god i feel bad like he felt weird about it he just didn't have any pictures like he's not a picture guy

00:32:12 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 2:

it's still weird you don't have to be a picture guy to have a picture of your wife all right that's

00:32:16 - 00:32:27 | Speaker 3:

weird okay then let's find out is there anybody listening that does not have any pictures of any of their family members in their phone because we live we take a million, how many pictures do you guys have in your phone right now? A ton.

00:32:28 - 00:32:36 | Speaker 4:

I just deleted thousands. Did you? I did. I'm so proud of myself. I've been slowly actually going through and like cleaning out my phone. It's been taking forever

00:32:36 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 2:

though. Because the weird thing is like with these iPhones, shout out to iPhone people, it'll have a section of your photos that says people that'll pull out the faces of individuals that you have a lot of pictures of. So how do you not have like, you know what I mean?

00:32:52 - 00:33:02 | Speaker 4:

Like that of the person. I have 56,690. Oh my God. I have 24,000. And I just deleted probably 10,000. Everybody take a picture

00:33:02 - 00:33:21 | Speaker 3:

of your album's ones where it counts them. I have 18,704. Y'all are killing me. How many do you have, Kev? How do you see it? You go to your albums. So click in your library and then go to albums and it will come up with your albums. It'll show the recents and stuff. $13,900.

00:33:22 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 4:

How in the hell do I have so many?

00:33:24 - 00:33:28 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea. How in the hell do you have so many? You take pictures.

00:33:29 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 4:

You have kids. I know, but what do I do?

00:33:32 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 3:

And you, for a living, post stuff all the time on social media.

00:33:36 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 2:

$50,000 is crazy, though.

00:33:38 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 3:

That is amazing. By the way, what kind of memory? You must have the 8 terabyte one.

00:33:42 - 00:33:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't. I gotta figure this out.

00:33:47 - 00:33:48 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Ashley? How you doing?

00:33:49 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. I was calling to comment on my spouse not having any photos of me on his phone.

00:33:55 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Wait. Are you saying that you are married to a guy like Jonas Jurepko?

00:34:00 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 1:

I am. However, he's someone who doesn't take photos at all.

00:34:06 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:34:07 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 1:

But I am his home screen and his lock screen.

00:34:09 - 00:34:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Well, that's at least nice. But here's a question for you. Yeah. If he's going to try to make a social media post for you for your birthday, how the hell is he going to come up with any kind of a collage of pictures?

00:34:23 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 1:

You know, I don't know. I always say the same thing. Like, if I pass away, you're not going to have any photos of me to, like, have at the view.

00:34:31 - 00:34:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Chelsea always tells me. My wife, Chelsea, always says that she's not in any photos with, like, the kids. Like, it is true, by the way. The mom's always the one taking the photos.

00:34:43 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Yep, absolutely.

00:34:45 - 00:34:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, at Chelsea's funeral, it's going to be me with the kids. Yeah. Hey, I think your mom was the one taking the pictures there. Rachel, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:34:55 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi. You basically said everything I was going to say. I have no pictures.

00:35:00 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 6:

pictures of me and my husband because we don't take selfies. So it's all the kids and that's pretty much it. And there would be no photos at my funeral or his.

00:35:11 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 3:

So, so if, uh, uh, and by the way, he will die before you, you're not dying, but, but here's, here's the, the quick question for you. If he was out with his buddies and they said, Hey, you know, what does Rachel look like? Would he be able to pull up a photo on his phone?

00:35:30 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 5:

It might take a while to scroll.

00:35:33 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 3:

Who would come up first? You or a fish?

00:35:38 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, apparently a fish. Or a deer. That's hilarious.

00:35:42 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God, those are worse than the fish. I'd rather see the fish.

00:35:45 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 6:

Baseball photos, tiger photos would come up.

00:35:48 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's so crazy. There could be more tiger's pics than you. That's funny. By the way, I recommend, this is something that when my wife just celebrated her birthday, she said to herself, I'm getting in more photos. and she does still doesn't do it a lot but you got to do that you got to get you know in photos you got to give your kids memories i only have maybe 10 photos of me with my mom and it just wasn't something my mom was doing my mom didn't take it and obviously we didn't have iphones back uh then we used to have to sketch photos you know that was what's up mike michael what's up hey what's going on guys nothing much what's going on with you nothing's on my way to work

00:36:26 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 4:

First time, long time. Hey, buddy. Michael's on the phone.

00:36:31 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 3:

Welcome to the show.

00:36:33 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, so I don't take many pictures at all. I only take a few pictures of my daughter from time to time, but anybody else in my family, myself, my wife, nothing, I don't have any photos of them.

00:36:43 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 1:

Doesn't that make you sad?

00:36:46 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 4:

No, we live in the moment. I mean, I live in the moment. I'm not trying to document through my phone. You can live in the moment and still take a picture. Well, I agree and I get that, but that's just not me.

00:36:59 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 3:

I kind of like it. I do kind of like that attitude of my photo is in my memory. I've got the memories of it. No. But I think there's something to living in the moment.

00:37:10 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 1:

No, I agree with that. I do agree with that, but I think it... We forget moments. We also forget moments. Very true. I love going back and looking at moments. For sure. And as somebody who doesn't have sisters and doesn't have another woman in my life at those events it's just my dad and my brother i'm constantly taking photos of them and i it never gets reciprocated yeah and it's really frustrating to be like i have beautiful photos of you with your girlfriends or you like doing these big life moments and there's never one of me yeah that that

00:37:44 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 3:

actually is something though that you have to be more you almost have to be your own advocate for

00:37:48 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 2:

that yeah and you know what i i love to like i do take a crap ton i almost said a bad word i do take a crap ton of photos but both of my kids love going back and looking at like oh this is the trip to Colorado that we took when I was four and they go back and they're like oh I remember that I remember it's really cool yeah to see them reminisce and re-remember things I used to love

00:38:10 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 3:

going into my aunt's house and my uh you know our family's houses like Jenny our friend and they would have the collage pictures hanging up on the wall did you guys know those where you had to fit like circular like everything was and there was a bunch of them in a row and you'd look in them and you go if you made the collage you knew that she actually loved you yes you know were you on there i was on there i was i was one of the group photo though yeah you're a dick lena what's going

00:38:36 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 6:

on hi first time long hey it's been like 28 28 years is a long time um my husband does not take pictures we've been to we've been married 14 together almost 20 and he doesn't he doesn't do social media though so but then he'll go out with his friends and he'll have pictures of his friends it drives me nuts but i get it in a way he says he sees me all the time so but still though if

00:39:05 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 3:

he's got a bunch of guys in his phone taking those pictures he's got to get some pictures of

00:39:09 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 6:

his beautiful lena in there i i yeah it drives me crazy but you want to have it change

00:39:16 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 3:

Go sit next to a good-looking guy, you know, and have that guy take a picture with you.

00:39:21 - 00:39:26 | Speaker 5:

Start taking pictures of work in there and a picture of deer, but I'm not in there.

00:39:26 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, you know you're from Michigan when you have a guy that has more pictures of deer than his own deer inside of his phone. Kristen, what's up?

00:39:35 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning.

00:39:36 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. We were talking about how many photos we all have in our photo albums on our iPhone. How many do you have?

00:39:42 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 6:

I actually just looked, and it's 91,005. Oh, my goodness.

00:39:48 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 3:

You beat me.

00:39:49 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 6:

That makes me feel better. Oh, my gosh.

00:39:51 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing.

00:39:53 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I am horrible at deleting, and I just think that they'll never be there again. So I just keep everything.

00:40:00 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 2:

everything, and it's kind of sad. By the way, how slow is your phone?

00:40:06 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 5:

It seems to run pretty well. I don't know. Okay. Because I was going to say,

00:40:09 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 2:

it probably gets slower as you put more photos in. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. Shannon, you took the kids out last night to go do some Halloween fun. You went to Glenlor

00:40:17 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 5:

Trails in Commerce, Michigan. It was seriously so much fun. I've been wanting to check it out for a couple of years now and finally got to go this year and took Lucy and Smith. It's like a, if you've never heard or seen any of the social media of Glenlor, it's like a, and it's long. It probably took us like a half hour, 40 minutes to walk through, but it's a trail through the woods that's all lit up and they've got spooky music and lights and bubbles and skeletons and you can get these wands and you tap these like little like touch pads that have a G for Glenlor trails on them and then it animates all of the different little scenes. It was really, really super fun. Well, they do it upright because not only is it a great evening for the kiddos, but there are food trucks at the front of the trail and then there are also at the front and then scattered throughout the trail trucks that you can get snacks and pop and Capri Suns and alcohol. so you can get beer you can get wine you can get spiked cider i mean they have it all and i had to laugh because um when we were walking through the trail there was this one dad who was in front of us at one point who clearly had a few pops before he went into the trail and was extraordinarily over served could not walk in a straight line on the trail oh he was like walking sideways to the right constantly walking to the right he was trying he kept falling off and over to the side and i'm watching this going oh my god i mean thank god mom was there as well like his wife or i you know i don't know what their relationship was but i'm i'm crossing my fingers she was the driver they had two kids with them and at one point she was like will you take a picture will you take a picture and he's like are you ever kidding me like just he was pretty slosh i'm not gonna judge

00:42:19 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 2:

unless he was driving but i've gone to kids events before and my one of my favorites ever was the the princesses disneys and stuff like that on stage you know any of that stuff at the fox theater and i have had some of the greatest drinks i've ever had in my life yeah it is not it is not fun to sit through a ton of these, you know, kids things. But when you sit through them and they have a bar open, I remember going to a couple of them and Chelsea's like going, what are you doing? And I'm like, Chelsea, we need to cocktail it up. You know what I mean?

00:42:51 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 5:

No, for sure. This, by the way, isn't just for kids. Like this is truly for all ages. I just thought it was funny because not even funny, but interesting because he was with his kids at this event. And now mind you, and you know me, I love having a glass of wine. Last night I had, I could only drink half of the spiked cider because it was strong, but this was

00:43:12 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 1:

You guys are being too nice. You guys are being way too nice. I'll be the bad guy. I think this is super embarrassing. I think this is really sad for this guy. Absolutely.

00:43:22 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 3:

If he got to that point, yeah, for sure.

00:43:26 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 4:

He was trying to walk straight and then he would go like this and go off to the side. And then you get the trees and the skeletons.

00:43:32 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 3:

No, that's not right.

00:43:33 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 5:

I would say probably maybe like four and ate. Bro, come

00:43:39 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 3:

on. This is bad.

00:43:41 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 2:

If you had to spend time with those kids, you'd be drinking too. Yeah.

00:43:44 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 3:

I think more places should sell alcohol. Like, think if the ice cream truck had alcohol. Yes. Like, how incredible would that be? Let's

00:43:53 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 5:

do this. Well, I say there should be a margarita truck that drives around neighborhoods. Quick question for you. For the parents. What

00:43:58 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 2:

kids event did you either get so drunk at or so stoned at that made it more memorable? We used to have our kids' birthday parties at it wasn't Zap Zone, but it was like a place that was by us in Waterford that was like they served alcohol there. It was like a kid's thing. And I was like, all the parents would all hang out. I think it's a great thing when they do, but

00:44:17 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 5:

I also, I'm like, I mean, there's a lot. I know.

00:44:22 - 00:44:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, know your limits. For sure. Which kids event have you drunk had the most to drink at? Like a birthday party or something like that? I went to one place that used to make clay pottery in Whirl Oak. I took Jacob there. I told Chelsea, I'm like, you're gonna have to Kick us both up. That place was boring. No. It was like watching.

00:44:40 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Creative Arts Studio. I love that place. Oh, yeah, yeah. Those are fire. When you're watching a bunch of kids smooshing their hands in the thing, that's not fun. I went to, shout out Gerard and Chrissy. They got two amazing daughters, Anaya and Imani, my cousins. And they are like diehard softball queens. Like they travel. They do the whole thing. And they had like a championship type.

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 1:

competition at the baseball field by UAD. And I was like, I was already out. So I was like,

00:45:06 - 00:45:07 | Unknown:

man, why not?

00:45:07 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 1:

I had the best time. I'm heckling. These are like 12 and 11 year olds. It was so much fun. Do you know how much drinking goes on when you do travel sports? Yeah, bro. They have coolers. We went to, we took Luke's team. We had the greatest. Luke had some great teams. And when I say great teams, our team sucked. The parents were great. We had teams. That makes We would go to Frankenmuth and stay at the place with the smelly pool, and we would go there, and the dads would all go to the Frankenmuth pub or whatever that was up there, and the brewery, and go bring back these big glass bottles full of beer for everybody. Crawlers. Crawlers, yeah. Crawlers. Crawlers, what are they? Crawlers. Crawlers. We'd go back, man. It turned out to be ... And then the next day, the funniest one was, was the next day you'd have to play like an eight o'clock in the morning game and you have to get your kids there the parents would be like where's the starbucks you'd be all hung over what's going

00:46:08 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 3:

on joe good morning guys how are you good what's going on not much uh so my friend went with her friend to her friend's uh daughter's uh recital and they did shrooms and they were telling me when

00:46:24 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 1:

the lights came on it was a whole different show see that though megan's not much you're not much

00:46:32 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 6:

of a drinker but you do like to take an edible every now and again listen i'm with shannon on this you can drink but i i feel like that one dad was out of line i think it's hysterical if you're looking at the light show at a kid dance recital that is very funny you can't be upset the next say when people start telling stories about what you did.

00:46:55 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm the 8th out of 10 kids. I give props to that guy

00:46:58 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 1:

for drinking. Quick question for you. When they're doing shrooms and they're at these dance recitals, at dance recitals, do you take pictures of your kids? Because I want to see what those pictures look like. That has to be kind of fun. Somebody brought up I think that place was Caesars Land. I think it was a Caesars Land.

00:47:18 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Caesars Land.

00:47:19 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 1:

it was like it was little caesar's version it was like chucky cheese but yeah it was little caesar's themed was it really yeah wait a birthday party there and it was right next to and i forget what the bar was but it was right next to a bar and they used to let us take uh roadies with us they would be like don't tell anybody but we're gonna we're gonna have some fun what's up steve

00:47:41 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 4:

so my wife was at my daughter's soccer tournament and i think at that age the girls were eight maybe nine yeah she said the dads were so drunk they were riding the luggage cart down the hallway

00:47:52 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 1:

at two o'clock in the morning yeah it's crazy travel sports sucks for your time but it's fun if you have great parents that you're traveling with it makes it a lot of fun for sure i used to

00:48:06 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 4:

be a chaplain for troy police department and they said the nuttiest event that they ever had the police was when there would be youth hockey tournaments at the hockey arena oh that Troy

00:48:15 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 1:

arena is crazy by the way can I tell you the the thing that we used to do we would have games that would start on Saturday but every parent would kick off on a Friday because I was off by 10 or 11 o'clock in the morning and they would all go up early and everybody would go up early and go

00:48:32 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 6:

hang out you were just hung over for the tournament pretty much yeah that sounds awful yeah I always

00:48:39 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 1:

want you know what i wanted to buy i wanted to buy when luke was in travel sports they had just come out so nowadays i think i would definitely do it if i had a young kid one of those sprinter vans and i wanted to turn the sprinter van into a party van for the parents okay like a mobile bar yeah like would that not be the greatest thing ever the favorite parent yeah sure one of the teams we played on we used to call it party juice they would have like somebody would like pre-make juices and stuff like that would that had alcohol in them that were so good but and mind you luke never played on a team that i think only one team ever maybe won it won a tournament i think that was probably it in all the years but the parents were party what's up linda hi hi um so my dad

00:49:27 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 2:

right after my seventh grade orchestra concert had left probably right when we were finishing up and went to the bar down the road and my orchestra teacher walked in and they both had drinks

00:49:43 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 1:

right after our concert see that there is some fun to do doing the whole band thing that's that's a

00:49:50 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 2:

band dad there for you yeah it was quite it's quite the story that's great what's up this is a funny

00:49:57 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

one angie hi

00:50:00 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 5:

morning good morning so my son was playing travel hockey and we went to a tournament out in like port huron and one of the dads well a bunch of the parents were drinking in the lobby of the hotel room yeah and the head coach ended up falling asleep with my youngest son teddy bear and another dad was behind the desk answering the phone at the hotel

00:50:24 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 3:

You got to love it when the coach is incoherent.

00:50:34 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the pictures were the best the next day, and all of us moms that weren't really drinking a whole lot were sitting there going, oh, this is going to be good.

00:50:43 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 3:

That's going to be a good one. Did they ever win any of their tournaments?

00:50:48 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 5:

They actually made it to runner-up. They lost in the championship game that year. Oh, that's not bad. yeah it wasn't they worked their butt off we were super proud of them yeah that's cool thank you i

00:51:00 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 3:

always thought that it would be cool because you know how they'll have like honey bake will sponsor the the you know team they they will sponsor like one of they have like one of the best hockey leagues i always thought it would be great to get a bar to sponsor your kids thing like you know i mean yeah like uh what what the hell is the the like dunlavey's and ellen park exactly like have That would be amazing. Have that, you know, be like your thing. Or even better than that, top it one step further than that. Like have like, I don't know. Twin Peaks. Labatt's. Oh.

00:51:31 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 4:

I like Twin Peaks.

00:51:32 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Twin Peaks would be great.

00:51:34 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine Twin Peaks sponsoring a Little League team? Fire.

00:51:37 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 3:

Why would they not? That would be, can you imagine the process you would get off of that? Look at all these people that are partying at dance. Rosie, partying with your dance team. The parent dad got drunk at the dance.

00:51:49 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. First time in a long time, by the way. Hey there. Rosie's on the phone.

00:51:54 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 3:

Were you ever embarrassed by your dad partying too much?

00:51:57 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 6:

Oh, 100%. Yes. They would also go into the Nationals and Disney World. They'd be up all night causing a ruckus. My dad got kicked out of Disney. They had a wheel mount going around the world. Stop it. That's hysterical.

00:52:16 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 2:

By the way, did you hear her laugh afterwards? Yeah. Do people ever talk to you about your laugh? You have a cute laugh.

00:52:23 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yes. All the time.

00:52:29 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:52:32 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 3:

All right. It is Friday. Thank God. Actually, today's going to be an interesting one. Today, the temperatures are going to be about as warm as we've had ever on an October the 11th. We're going to be in the 70s. You're going to boo, boo, boo. what the weather is going to be like next week, we aren't even hitting it looks like 55 degrees for a high. We may be literally in the 50s all week long. Low 50s, possibly even some 40 degree temperatures.

00:53:01 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 6:

But I hate when that happens too. Like my favorite season is fall and I feel like we're skipping it. Yeah. 62 degree days where you get to wear like super cute outfits and you're comfortable.

00:53:11 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 3:

Well we'll have that tomorrow. I think tomorrow will be like that. We've had a couple days like that, but the problem, well not the problem, It's a good thing. But the sun has kind of made it warmer. The temperature actually showed that it was this week, 64 degrees, 65 degrees. But it felt like it was in the 70s because the sun was so warm. Shannon with an update for us. By the way, the leaves are not really turning colors right now. It's going to be interesting. It's very light on that, which I don't know how that will affect the up north leaf viewing because their temperatures have been a little bit cooler. But what's going on, Shannon?

00:53:42 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

So, I told you yesterday that Taylor Swift donated $5 million to Hurricane Relief. Tom Brady announced last night he's donating $100,000 to Hurricane Milton. Step it up, Tom. And now, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds announced a $1 million donation to Relief Efforts. The CEO of Feeding America said these funds are going to help food banks provide basic needs. And they gave him a lot of money and extension on his career. Well, you know, it's something. And he went, here's my pocket change. Sadly, at least a dozen people have died in Florida because of Hurricane Milton, while the devastating Hurricane Helene death toll has risen to more than 230 people. Kanye West allegedly hired a fixer, like an Olivia Pope or a Ray Donovan, to investigate Kim Kardashian's family. And supposedly he hired a PI to tail his current wife, Bianca Sensori. So this story is coming to us from a Michigan-based John Doe who filed a lawsuit in L.A. against Ye on allegations of emotional distress, retaliation, and labor code violations. In the complaint, this gentleman, who was a former employee of Kanye's, claims that he was instructed to investigate the Kardashian family.

00:55:00 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 3:

and various criminal links that Ye believed they had with criminal enterprises, including sex trafficking. Could you imagine if that story is true? He also alleges that Ye had him hire private investigators to follow and tail Bianca without her knowledge while she was visiting her family in Australia over the summer. This John Doe claims he was tasked with fixing all sorts of Kanye's problems, including investigating items that were stolen or lost, items like expensive cars. Now, how in the hell you lose an expensive car, I have no idea. But this also has something to do with the mess that went on with Donda Academy. Do you guys remember the scandal that somebody claimed? Well, and somebody claimed that children were getting abused at Donda. So this John Doe went in and was basically supposed to keep the majority as much as he could of those allegations quiet. And he said he was threatened with great bodily harm should the allegations be made public. So he is now seeking in excess of seven figures in his new lawsuit.

00:56:13 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 2:

You know how we're like big documentary people and we're always like, I can't wait for that to come out. Why have we not heard from the parents that sent their kids to Donda Academy yet?

00:56:22 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

00:56:23 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 2:

An update on that.

00:56:24 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 4:

Why do people want to cancel?

00:56:25 - 00:56:28 | Speaker 5:

Or Oprah's Place. Oprah's Place has got always the rumors.

00:56:28 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 2:

Did Oprah's Place shut down?

00:56:29 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 5:

Or is it still open? Oprah's School, there's all kinds of crazy rumors that came out about that place.

00:56:34 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, dog. I'm just tired of people picking on Ye, bro. It seems like every day somebody got something to say about Ye. Meanwhile, there's people out here like Diddy who flying under the radar and nobody talking about that's really doing the...

00:56:46 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 2:

I think it's both.

00:56:47 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 5:

We're talking about Diddy to a point where I'm, like, Diddy'd out.

00:56:51 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 4:

Diddy'd out.

00:56:52 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 2:

Also, Kanye needs to stop picking on other people.

00:56:54 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 4:

I mean, Kanye's just trying to make music, and, yeah.

00:57:00 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 3:

And speaking of investigations, did you guys see the story about TD Bank? Yes. That broke yesterday? Holy crap. So, listen, let me give you, like, the CliffsNotes. Over a six-year period, TD Bank failed to monitor $18.3 trillion in customer activity, which allowed three money laundering networks to transfer more than $670 million through accounts at TD Bank. At least one of those schemes involved five bank employees. So yesterday, there was this big press conference that U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland held to explain.

00:57:40 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 1:

Today, TD Bank became the largest bank in U.S. history to plead guilty to Bank Secrecy Act program failures and the first bank in history to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering. In addition to obtaining today's corporate felony pleas, the Justice Department has also prosecuted two dozen individuals for their involvement in money laundering schemes that moved over $670 million in illicit funds through TD Bank accounts.

00:58:10 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 5:

Here's the problem for the government on this one. The government didn't get a piece of it. The other banks are probably doing the same exact thing, but the government gets a piece of their money and knows exactly who's paying taxes and who's not paying taxes. They're going to go after them, because I believe all these banks are ways for these people to funnel money through.

00:58:29 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I feel dumb. I don't understand money laundering. Okay, I didn't either. And I watched Ozark, and I still don't understand it. I still don't get it. Someone explain it to me and dumb it down. It's a business that you're running your illegal money through to legalize it. I don't understand it. I don't get it.

00:58:48 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 5:

I still don't get how we are able to legalize marijuana, but yet you can't use credit cards or you can't use the banks at all, your debits and stuff. You have to withdraw money from an ATM and you have to pay cash.

00:59:04 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 2:

I've never been in a dispensary. It's dumb. Banks are federally insured, so you cannot put something that is federally illegal. You've got to pay cash for edibles. Yeah, and they can't put their money in the bank. Some of these dispensaries bought old U-Haul storage facilities and have armed guards outside of them with just cash.

00:59:20 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 5:

It's like Breaking Bad.

00:59:22 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 2:

I seriously did not know that.

00:59:23 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:59:23 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 5:

But it's crazy that that's the case.

00:59:24 - 00:59:27 | Speaker 3:

It's like the ice cream shop in my neighborhood, cash only. Yeah. You can't.

00:59:28 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 5:

Well, and you know if it's cash only at the ice cream shop.

00:59:31 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 3:

No, Kathy. Kathy, I got you, Kathy. Somebody's doing something funny. A little funny business there.

00:59:36 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 5:

By the way, poor Kathy's going to get a call from Merrick Garland.

00:59:40 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 3:

Kathy, you're good. For all of today's dirty, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:00:00 - 01:00:07 | Speaker 3:

you uh had a question to ask that dealt with uh with kids and when do you when do you introduce

01:00:07 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 4:

your kids to their new boo exactly so if you're dating someone and uh you already have children at what point in your relationship do you say okay it's time for you to meet my kids and a friend of mine has been dating this girl i think they've been dating for like four or five months and he knows that i've gone through this with sherelle having to meet josiah he was like hey bro uh you know really like this girl or you know when should i let her meet my daughter and i kind of thought and i would love i know you know shannon obviously you have children and you know less had children i would love to know from you when did you guys discuss and when did you do it with sherelle i feel like see the the thing about sherelle and i is that i've known sherelle so it's not like she was like some new random person that i met and dated for five months and then said okay now it's time for you to meet josiah sherelle and i went to high school and even though we weren't like best friends from the time that we graduated high school to the time that we started to date i still knew her i knew what she was about we've had conversations periodically so i knew her character and the type of person that she was so it wasn't like it was this fresh blank canvas of an individual that i had no reference to that i'm bringing my son into this person's life but when shirelle and i first officially start dating i would say it was about five or six months i think we started to date kind of like in the summerish fallish and then the first time she met josiah um she put together like this little paint thing for christmas and i brought jokes he likes to do art and so he painted that was kind of his way of of meeting her but i don't know if it's like a broad brush of like this is the perfect time yeah like i think one of the things that i told him was and here's an interesting thing too because i dated people before i dated cheryl that josiah met but josiah was young enough that he really didn't have any relationship with that person like he was so young to the point where like this person really didn't matter to him you know what i mean like and of course kids remember things you know beyond what we think they remember but it wasn't that significant of a relationship or a person around to him to where it was like a core memory it wasn't it wasn't a loss for real right but i feel like you have it's you have to understand that if this in my mind it has to kind of be a forever type of thing because you don't want your child to develop this connection then that person goes

01:02:33 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 3:

away what's his friend's situation how long is it about five months four or five months so four or five months and how old is kids uh she's seven years old so she's seven years old four or five months this is a guy buddy of yours yep so a guy buddy of yours this girl she have any kids no because i always think that that's also a case too like if they don't have any kids versus that

01:02:51 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 1:

they have kids um and it's is it a turn off if she is like i'm not ready to meet your kids not that i wouldn't do it in the future but i think it's too soon i don't think so i think that that

01:03:04 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 2:

shows me that she's being really careful and intentional yeah i'd be i'd respect her probably

01:03:09 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 4:

for sure if it depends on her reasons behind it though yeah like if she said no i'm not ready because i think this is a huge step and i want to make sure we're ready then that's something i can respect if she's just like no i'm not really trying to do that right now then it's like that

01:03:22 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

could be a red flag i think it's also a process to your point like when i was you know had just started dating wes it was like they knew that i was talking on the phone to somebody after we had been dating for a couple of months and then we facetimed a couple of times and then it wasn't until about we had been dating for almost seven months that i actually introduced i remember you talking and talking about that yeah and we like made a big deal about it he asked andrew's permission personally to to you know meet the kids for the first time which i thought was very respectable and then he we didn't get all four of our kids together until a few months after that

01:04:04 - 01:04:38 | Speaker 5:

jasmine hi jasmine's got an interesting situation what's that so my boyfriend and i have been together for three years and i have just kind of started introducing the idea of him to my kids i haven't fully introduced them yet like i i'll like go drop something off to him while they're in the car and they'll be like well who's that and i'll be like oh that's just my friend um so they can kind of get used to like seeing him around. How old are your kids? My son is five

01:04:38 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 3:

and my daughter's four. Okay, so they're really young and you've been with this guy for three years since the kids were babies and you're waiting that long. Is he upset by this or is he cool with waiting?

01:04:50 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 5:

No, we're kind of both just kind of taking our time to, you know, make sure everything's good and we are solid.

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

I give you respect though.

01:05:00 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 2:

respect and i know some people might think that that's crazy that's a lot of time that you've been dating them but these are your kids you know what i mean like so are you questioning because i'm one of the people you first said i'm like three years damn what you waiting for like what what um

01:05:13 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 5:

what are you waiting for i'm just trying to make sure that it's the right decision my previous relationship was a lot so i'm just trying to make sure everything's good and i've made up my mind before i'd be like oh yeah by the way here are my kids now okay i have another question then so say

01:05:34 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 1:

you're dating this guy for this long right he's the right one you know that he proposes you're gonna get married now you haven't introduced him to the kids and he hasn't been around and we went from nobody in our lives to now like new stepdad lives with us isn't that and the kids despise him

01:05:50 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 5:

I just feel like that you like, you like jumping directly in like, no, I'm not going to just get married just right that quick. Like, it's not going to be like, oh, yeah, by the way, here's him. You guys know him now. Cool. We're getting married. He's moving in tomorrow. Like, that's not going to happen. You're moving a little bit too fast for me.

01:06:11 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 2:

What about what Shannon threw out there? What if your kids don't like him?

01:06:15 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 5:

Like, really don't like him. So far, so far, the vibe that they give when they're around him is pretty good.

01:06:25 - 01:06:25 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:06:25 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 5:

So, I'm not sure.

01:06:28 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, you got to call us back and let us know when you finally do introduce this guy to your kids, what your kids think. You're the lady, you're the guy my mom kept dropping things off to. Do you guys hug each other when you're dropping things off or do you guys give each other a kiss? Yeah. Do you have to hide the kiss from the kids?

01:06:48 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, we don't kiss in front of the kids.

01:06:50 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 2:

But a hug?

01:06:51 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:06:52 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

Are you a hugger normally, or is that unusual for you to hug men like that?

01:06:56 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 5:

It is. They probably know, like, okay, this is something different because I'm not a toucher.

01:07:01 - 01:07:03 | Speaker 2:

Is he grabbing booty when he hooked?

01:07:03 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my goodness. No, not in front of my kids.

01:07:06 - 01:07:13 | Speaker 2:

By the way, yours is completely opposite of Sarah's. Sarah, are you there? Sarah?

01:07:13 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:07:14 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Jasmine's on with us. jasmine waited three years and still has not introduced her boyfriend to her kids how long did you wait uh about a week

01:07:23 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 4:

okay so my story is very similar to kev's um i want to say first time long time although i have called the slightly messy show so i don't know if that counts Aw, love you. So we have been, we've known each other since I was in high school. I actually hated him in high school, but he, his best friend married my best friend.

01:07:54 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Jasmine hung up. Yeah.

01:07:57 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 4:

My best friend has married his best friend. So we knew each other and ran in the same circle for a very long time. And that's why it was.

01:08:05 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 2:

You were close. Did your kids know him over the time, though?

01:08:09 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 4:

No, she met me at the wedding, because she was in the wedding as well.

01:08:13 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay, how old is...

01:08:14 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Wait, this is exactly what I just said.

01:08:16 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 2:

No, she's talking about her friend's wedding, not your wedding, right?

01:08:19 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, okay.

01:08:20 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Did you dance? Was he your date at your wedding, too?

01:08:26 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 4:

Actually, no, but he tried to pick me up at the wedding, and that's how we got together. Okay. And we've been together for, oh, God, I can't remember, 2017. So it's been like eight years.

01:08:39 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 2:

How old are your kids?

01:08:41 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 4:

My daughter's 12 now. And then we have a two-year-old.

01:08:44 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 2:

I would think that being, you know, that the last caller was her kids were like three and four. That wouldn't be as difficult to kind of make the decision of, you know, keeping them out. But when they're 12 years old, your 12-year-old wants to know more about your life or what's going on.

01:08:58 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And they're not dumb.

01:08:59 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Thanks.

01:09:00 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. She was only five at the time, but he ended up moving in like a month after.

01:09:04 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. wait you introduced him in a week and then he ran in he moved in within a month yep yep you are

01:09:11 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 4:

quick and we were just like okay let's just do it so all right well i wish you guys luck i hope everything is good yeah we've been married for five years oh okay well you guys are together

01:09:21 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 2:

okay so that tone change she may well no that's good that makes me feel good because honestly i was starting to think that okay i don't know if this is a great idea but it worked for you

01:09:32 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

what's up candace hi hi yeah i had to call in because so i split up with my husband seven years ago my kids at the time were like seven and five and since then he has had them living with three different girls they've met more than like double digits um at one point my son came to me and we're talking about one of the girls and he's like, but don't tell.

01:10:00 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 5:

britney about amanda because amanda doesn't know britney doesn't know and just crazy things like that and now he has married um a woman that doesn't even speak english like they talk to google translate in their house and they're trying to bring his two kids her she's got one kid that she brought over from cuba and they're trying to bring two more over and like put these kids in

01:10:24 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 2:

the room but she is cuban women are fire quick question that's got to bother you right as a

01:10:31 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 5:

you know oh yeah i mean we've had multiple fights i've had recordings of me arguing with him and him i'm like what is the benefit of them meeting these girls so quick and one of his answers was well you know they can always use more hugs i'm like they're not lacking in hugs you hug them

01:10:49 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 2:

then hug your own here's a question then for you know like kevin i'll ask this question to you what about josiah's mom like does she do and this is a hypothetical but i don't know if this is the case does in this case we have candace on the phone with us right now does her baby's you know dad owe her hey you get a little say so on when i introduce or do you like do you feel like you with josiah like if she starts dating uh josiah's mom starts dating somebody different yeah do you feel like you have a say so that say hey don't keep introducing to and it's all hypothetical. I would

01:11:26 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 3:

hope that once she identifies that this is someone that's going to be around long term that she would introduce me to him. And that's what I did with Sherelle. I sent Sherelle and Jasmine to go get like they manicure pedicure as like a first meet type of thing. Okay that is pretty smart. I like that.

01:11:49 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 5:

Because you knew that they would get along.

01:11:50 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:11:51 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

01:11:53 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 3:

At least at the end of it, at least they can get their nails done.

01:11:56 - 01:12:06 | Speaker 4:

I like that there was no pressure of you being around so they can openly communicate with each other and not put on anything just to be nice in front of you.

01:12:06 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 2:

What if she came back, Sherelle came back, and said, I'm not dating you now. That would have been crazy. What is the story? Which line am I picking up, Lydia?

01:12:16 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 6:

Seven was similar, closer, similar to, like, Kevin's story.

01:12:20 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Samantha, what's the story?

01:12:22 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. I'm actually dating this awesome man who has a daughter, and I have yet to meet his daughter because we've had a conversation. Before I meet her, he wants me to meet his ex so that we can get to know each other, so that we can see where things go before I meet their daughter. in case if it gets to that co-parenting, we can get along and make things easier. How does that make you feel? Honestly, I've dated guys with kids before, and meeting the ex is pretty terrifying, but this one seems like they have good co-parenting. They ended on pretty good terms, so I think that this one will go pretty well because there's no fighting. He just wants to give her the respect of this is who I want to bring my daughter around and see if we can get along as well, like how they get along in co-parenting. They fizzled out as friends after eight years.

01:13:20 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. So is this about to happen or no?

01:13:24 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 6:

So, yeah, we're about six months in. So we're talking before holiday season. So that way, if I'm around at the holidays, we know what's going on.

01:13:36 - 01:13:36 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:13:37 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Good luck.

01:13:38 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's going to be interesting to see what happens. Let's see if you're around at the holidays.

01:13:42 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 1:

Best of luck to you and your future endeavors.

01:13:48 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844, Mojo Live. Text 95500. Megan had kind of a funny thing happen to her. Will you tell your jacket story?

01:14:03 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 4:

No, because I feel like a dumbass. Some things are not supposed to go on the air and are just supposed to stay between eyes.

01:14:09 - 01:14:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, this is too good.

01:14:10 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I'm a dumbass. hello my name is megan and nobody's shocked by that information but i got really mad um because i was wearing this jacket and i asked shannon if she had bought any clothes from this company before and you said you had why and i said well i'm i'm really kind of thrown off by how wrong the sizing is there like i i now know that i am a true you know size and i fit in that size pretty much consistently across a lot of stores now and i had to buy a jacket that was four sizes bigger than what i three sizes bigger than what i normally wear she was like what do you mean this jacket man i had to buy it and like this huge size and it barely fits across my boobs she looks at the tag

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 5:

She goes, you might be the dumbest person I've ever met. I think those were your words was, I don't know how you've made it this far in life. How did you graduate high school? You're pretty.

01:15:07 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 4:

You are so. You're very pretty.

01:15:09 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 5:

Do you know how to spell your name? Do you know what your address is? Yes. Can you get home today? And it was because I had bought a children's jacket. So I'm walking around. The pretty one's always so dumb. I'm walking around this winter in a kid's coat.

01:15:22 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 4:

Yep. So every time you see me in that coach, you're like, no, he's not. No, he's not. And I look at the tag and go, Megan, look at the size. this is absolutely not because it had like the letter size and then underneath it it had the

01:15:34 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 1:

numerical size i'm like this is not your size did you buy it online or did you buy it from uh the store so did you have to buy like a few versions before you got to this one or what happened

01:15:45 - 01:16:07 | Speaker 5:

oh no i had to buy it in store because i was so thrown out i wouldn't have bought that because online sorry i have bought a lot of stuff from them on line and in store um but the stuff i bought online was like beanies and like she puts on this jacket in the studio and she couldn't even lift her arm i'm like megan i was like look at look at it you know that song where chris varley

01:16:07 - 01:16:27 | Speaker 4:

fat guy in a little coat you want to know what was so funny about not even funny but she started the conversation excuse me with me very seriously because she's like i've put in all this work i lost all this weight and she's like and i still flipping can't fit into the size i thought and then i was like oh my god do you know why i asked you that question is i asked you two

01:16:27 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 1:

fold number one i've ordered shoes before and i've bought in and got shoes and the shoes came and they were little kid shoes but they were little big kid shoes because they were big size because

01:16:38 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 4:

i wear a big size where they listed it as a women's size but it was really men's sizing and

01:16:42 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 1:

it was totally different they had they had like the best first off it pisses me off when they go they've got one left and i'm like oh my god they got one left and it's a kid size yeah the other thing too is i go to to uh nordstrom's and the nordstrom's uh down the street from the radio station their kids clothes look cooler than their adult clothes like they'll have kids stuff and i'm going like jackets and stuff like i want to buy like a sport jacket right and i'll walk in there i'm like why do the kids jackets look nicer than the jackets the douche dad jackets that are on the

01:17:12 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 5:

other side you know well now i want to know how much money i saved probably a lot that's zara i

01:17:18 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 4:

I buy Zara sometimes wide-legged jeans. I buy Lucy a pair, and then I just buy the biggest size because I'm so dang short. It works perfectly.

01:17:26 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 5:

I get so mad when women can wear children's shoes, and they can get specifically Nikes or Pumas or something. Instead of it being $150, they're like $60. I'm like, I hate you.

01:17:38 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Has that ever happened where you ended up ordering the wrong?

01:17:44 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 4:

I wish Mike was still on, because remember the H&M jacket that he loved, and he rocked that to everything, and we finally figured out it was a women's jacket.

01:17:53 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 5:

It's kind of weird the buttons are on the wrong side.

01:17:56 - 01:17:58 | Speaker 1:

That's even funnier, by the way.

01:17:58 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 4:

Nobody said anything to him for a long time, and then we finally filled him in.

01:18:03 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 1:

Christina, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:18:05 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Morning. So I recently lost over 200 pounds. Oh, you. Hold on. Stop for a second.

01:18:13 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 1:

Stop. We're applauding that.

01:18:14 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 3:

we're going to celebrate that that's huge thank you it's very exciting but i had gone online and ordered like a black zip-up jacket and a size large and i'm like i got it i'm like why is this so tight it shouldn't be this tight and then i realized that i ordered it in a little boy's

01:18:32 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 1:

size water yeah that's great oh wow yeah well can i ask you do you mind if uh sharon how you lost because i know there's a lot of people always struggling to lose weight what'd you do um so i

01:18:43 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 3:

did a calorie deficit um and i've been doing that for a long time it's hard but it's definitely

01:18:50 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 5:

worth it help me out what what have you been doing for your sweet treats because i'm dying

01:18:54 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 3:

right now for like sweets so for like sweet stuff honestly i'll be completely honest with you i will treat myself with something sweet if i'm really really craving it because if i don't i found in the past that i just will end up binge eating something and it's just unhealthy so i just will do like a small you know little portion of whatever it is just to get that sweet taste and then i have

01:19:20 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 1:

to just be like okay i'm gonna walk away good for you man that's that's awesome congratulations to

01:19:24 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 2:

you christina thank you uh britney what's up hi my husband bought kids underwear he came out in them in front of me and he's like i don't think these fit

01:19:38 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

i did the same thing i did i literally were like oh these are kind of cute like whatever and then i got home and i put them on i was like can't get it up my thigh what the hell is going on and i tried yanking these bad boys up i thought they were gonna have to surgically remove them from my body.

01:20:00 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 1:

What's even funny is I tried helping him find his underwear, and he showed me them in the store, and I'm like, yeah, those are them. And I didn't know that kid's underwear he was searching for.

01:20:12 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's insane. Could you imagine the little kid's like, wait a second, why is that man in my underwear section? Bye, guys. Thank you.

01:20:21 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 6:

Pop a child to wear.

01:20:23 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Texts that are texting in this morning. Some people have done the exact same thing. Shoes are the big one, it seems like, here, where people order them online. That is, by the way, the worst when it comes up and you look up, like, I'll Google the shoe that I want. And you Google it, and the kids always have the shoe that you want, and the adult size is not available. Colin, what's up?

01:20:51 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how's it going? First time calling. Hey, buddy. I've been on the phone.

01:20:55 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, buddy?

01:20:57 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 4:

So, for Christmas, I think it was last year or the year before, my mother-in-law bought me and my brother-in-law Michigan sweatshirts. Come to find out, they were women's sweatshirts. Well, we never told my brother-in-law. I returned mine, got something different. And we never told him, and he still wears it all the time. And no one has pointed out to him that it's a woman's sweatshirt. Oh, my God. Yeah. That's great.

01:21:22 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 5:

You think he could be listening right now, hearing your voice, cussing you out?

01:21:25 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 4:

um probably not we were both at the tigers game last night i think he's still sleeping do this

01:21:31 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 5:

for me then get this podcast this podcast will be up within like the next couple of minutes zach will have it up there and i want you to just let him listen to this podcast say hey man i was on the air and what's his name what's his first name uh mike hey mike love your sweatshirt buddy that's how you got to let him know that he that he has the woman's sweatshirt okay All right, will do. And by the way, if you still like the look, does anybody notice it?

01:21:56 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. I mean, honestly, this just happened with Josiah. I bought him a Lions hoodie that I saw on Target, and he wore it, and then I watched it, like, a couple of days ago. When I put it out to dry, I was like, hmm, the Lions is kind of shimmery. I looked at the tag and it said, girls.

01:22:11 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's funny. Shannon's going to do the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

01:22:22 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 3:

This was trending last night. Donald Trump in Detroit yesterday speaking at the Detroit Economic Club and said something not so nice at all about the city.

01:22:32 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 2:

The whole country is going to be like, you want to know the truth? It'll be like Detroit. Our whole country will end up being like Detroit if she's your president. You're going to have a mess on your hands. She destroyed San Francisco.

01:22:42 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 3:

Obviously talking about Vice President Kamala Harris in response to this, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan tweeted, Detroit just hosted the largest NFL draft in history. The Tigers are back in the playoffs. The Lions are headed to the Super Bowl. Crime is down and our population is growing. Lots of cities should be like Detroit. And we did it all without Trump's help. Governor Gretchen Whitmer also weighing in, tweeting, Detroit is the epitome of grit, defined by winners willing to get their hands dirty to build up their city and create their communities, something Donald Trump could not understand, so keep Detroit out of your mouth. People say I'm

01:23:19 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 5:

ruining this country. He was here, right? He was speaking before the Detroit Economic

01:23:25 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 6:

Club. How tone deaf can you be to be in a city and say something against the city? That's crazy.

01:23:33 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Diddy will go on trial in May on all of those federal rocketeering and sex trafficking and assault charges yesterday. A judge set his trial date May 5th is when that's happening. The trial expected to last around a month at least. And Diddy's sitting his butt in jail until May. He is not going anywhere. Prosecutors said that 96 electronic devices were seized in those raids on Diddy's two residences back in March. Another four were seized when he was arrested last month, leaving investigators, you guys, with 90 terabytes of data to go through. Think of what they are going to find. So that means this indictment could be updated to add even more charges or even more defendants.

01:24:19 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 6:

Obviously, tip of the iceberg. Obviously, with a case like this, it's not just Diddy that's affected and seeing his family, in particular, his children leave the courthouse yesterday, his daughters. It really hurt, man, to see them leave.

01:24:34 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Travis Kelsey's ex-girlfriend claims she's being bombarded with hate every single day from Swifties. Kayla Nicole said the cruel comments from Taylor Swift fans have impacted her life a ton, and she did nothing to deserve it. She was a guest on WNBA star Angel Reese's new Unapologetically Angel show yesterday.

01:24:54 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

You could go to my most recent post and it will be people debating each other why I.

01:25:00 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 4:

am worthless and i'll never be a talented person and i have no career and i'm a bum and just but what was the reason for that if you left with grace i don't feel like there's nothing to do with i don't know i just i think that there's something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people and it's unfortunate because i've never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash

01:25:25 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

That is so weird. She's never said anything bad, to my knowledge, and Lydia, correct me, or resident Swifty, about Swifties, and she's never said anything really negative about Travis Kelsey. She's remained very professional when discussing her ex and his team.

01:25:41 - 01:25:45 | Speaker 2:

So this is not the, because there was one that came out in the beginning and did.

01:25:46 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 1:

Shoot, now I feel like that.

01:25:48 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 2:

But we talked about this the other day. The Swifties are upset about a hurricane and going crazy. I think the Swifties are a little crazy. I think that Taylor sometimes needs to reel them in a little bit about their passion for her.

01:26:04 - 01:26:07 | Speaker 4:

I can attest to this. I do think Swifties are a little dramatic sometimes.

01:26:08 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 1:

All right. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:26:14 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 2:

Go! Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s. bojo in the morning this is an interesting stat i just read it comes to us from men's health it says ready for this and this is for kevin kevin if you are ever in the bathroom with tony I want you to listen up. Tony is our boss, by the way, the program director of this radio station and executive audio or executive whatever the hell he's called. He's an executive with iHeart.

01:27:05 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 3:

I have to be people. Whatever the hell. Right?

01:27:08 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 2:

He's something like that. He's a national program or something like that. I don't know. But is he well endowed? What?

01:27:17 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 1:

Wait, okay, that's weird.

01:27:18 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 2:

Men's Health Magazine, you find yourself standing next to your boss at the urinal. What do you do? Most guys make small talk. Pretend not to notice that he's there for a second would be the second thing to do. And you kind of just, you know, do nothing. And one out of every 100 guys checks out to see if his boss really stacks up, according to Men's Health Magazine. These are things to do.

01:27:46 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 3:

Feels like the guy who wrote that article got caught at work. And he needed to cut those tracks.

01:27:50 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, this is... It's not just me guys. They did an official poll, because it was one out of every 100 guys. Oh, a poll. They did a poll.

01:27:58 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 1:

What do you do? Has this ever been you?

01:28:02 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 2:

If I'm in the bathroom, I talk. Well, first off, Kev's a talker in the bathroom anyway. Just out of curiosity.

01:28:07 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 4:

I've never looked over at somebody.

01:28:10 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 3:

Why is that hard to believe?

01:28:12 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 4:

Because we're human.

01:28:14 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 3:

I love penises. I'm not trying to look at a penis. That's not something that I'm interested in, curious about, or want to see.

01:28:21 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I got boobs. I want to see everybody's. Oh, I stare at boobs.

01:28:26 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 2:

I admitted back in the day. I do, too. Back in the day when the palace was around and the Pistons played in the palace, they used to have the little entryway that the visiting team would walk out of, like the tunnel that the visiting team walked out of, and there was always a bathroom that was there that the media could use. And I would go into that bathroom all the time, and I stood next to Kid Rock, Bob Ritchie, and Kid Rock was there, and I turned over and looked at him, and I go, hey, kid. and he jokingly said don't ever call me kid in the bathroom like meaning you know kid i had to take a pee i had to see what kid was was uh dealing with and i i'm gonna be honest with you you know i didn't see it exactly but he seemed like he had to unfold it like five or six times to get it out of his pants fold it you know you know a guy you know a guy is well endowed you know a guy is well endowed when he's sitting there and he does it and he has to like do this where he's like doing the wobble a little bit and he's trying to pull it out y'all constantly

01:29:24 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 3:

ask me if i take the little test on what can or cannot be said from hr and he talking about

01:29:31 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 2:

unfolding i don't give more descriptive than unfold it and by the way kev you're not going to be gay if you admit that you look at another man i'm so excited for gay shit okay so when you

01:29:42 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 3:

asked kid rock that or when you peaked what did that do for you i just i didn't ask kid rock if

01:29:48 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 2:

i could see it i just looked i it it but got in my head to go man the guy's got everything you know what i mean like he's a rock star he's got good hair he's got a big Johnson you know but you walk away from that and what are you left with honestly feeling bad about yourself no I well I do feel bad listen or confidence I can fit into some pants most pants which is nice but I will say this to you I looked at it going some guys get all the luck you know what I mean some guys got it all you know and I looked at that at that moment and I thought to myself, eh, it's Kid Rock. I'll give it to him. Whatever. But if Tony Travato, no offense, Tony, I'm talking about your penis. I hope you're okay with this.

01:30:34 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 4:

Let's call Tony. You know he's not.

01:30:36 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, call Tony. I think that Tony Travato, I would... Do you want me to call

01:30:40 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 4:

my boss and say, hey, we want to have you

01:30:42 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 2:

on the top of your penis? No, no, no. I'll call him. I'll call him. I'll call him. Tony Travato, Tony Travato, I would bet, has a large penis. I mean, if I had to guess on who has the largest penis in this entire building i would say tony travato has the has the the biggest one um but i am politely taking myself out of this question are there any guys listening any guys that are listening to the show do you do you look to see what another man's junk looks like because women in megan just admitted it we'll look at other girls no breasts so if i see a

01:31:16 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 5:

okay i'm gonna ask you this question if you see a woman naked and you and i might have different answers what's the first thing that you check out on her body usually like naked naked yeah boobs her boobs yeah i check to see if she has cellulite because i'm like if you don't you bitch oh it's

01:31:30 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 4:

not fair before you put that honest to god that's what i do i was like damn uh no it's usually her boobs yeah and then i think you and i have different um i don't know if you want me to talk about this and if you don't i'm sorry and tell no joan he'll dump it but then how we groom down there? Oh, that's another thing. Actually, you're right. That's first. Sometimes I'm like, am I... I think I'm in the minority for the laser hair removal that I did. I want to know

01:31:57 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 2:

how groomed they are, too, Megan. I swear to you. I want to see, just to make sure. But, Kev, this is not, there's nothing bad. You can admit it, but I will say this, that I think that guys are just as inquisitive as women are.

01:32:13 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 1:

I think it's weird if you're not.

01:32:15 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 2:

Jenny, what's happening? Call me weird.

01:32:17 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 1:

I love you so much. I really do. I listen to you all the time. But what is going on? Can you just not admit that out loud?

01:32:26 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 2:

Jenny, that's why, honestly, I have been able to be successful for as long as I have, because I am willing to admit things that others will keep quiet.

01:32:36 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 1:

I get it.

01:32:36 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 2:

And I'm going to tell you this right now. If you don't think that your guy goes into a bathroom and he's not looking at the ad that's in front of you, which, by the way, it's usually when you go to a place like a Comerica Park, it's always don't drink and drive or whatever. It's always an ad that's in front of you and the wall. The guy occasionally gives a little look, gives a peek, you know, but he does it slyly like he has something on his shoulder.

01:33:00 - 01:33:05 | Speaker 1:

It's your confidence that makes you successful. You're confident. You don't have to admit this, though.

01:33:05 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Jenny, question for you. Thank you, Jenny. Do you also agree with me that our boss probably has the largest penis in this entire building?

01:33:12 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, all the bosses are dick swingers. He's my language. He's a dick swinger, yes.

01:33:17 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 2:

He is. What's up, bud, Craig? Hi.

01:33:20 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 3:

Hey. Hey, how's it going?

01:33:22 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 2:

Good, buddy. What's happening?

01:33:24 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I was in the military, and we had stalls back to back to back with no anything in between them. I promise you, we never looked at each other's stuff.

01:33:34 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 4:

You lie.

01:33:35 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

01:33:36 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 4:

Even on the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelsey, they were talking about how when media comes into the locker room, all of the people working media look at the naked guys and they're junk.

01:33:47 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, that's media.

01:33:51 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 2:

Listen, first off, thank you for serving. I will never, ever degrade you because of your service, but I guarantee you, you've looked at another man's dick.

01:34:02 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm not going to say that I've never seen another man's dick, but I didn't purposely look at another man's dick.

01:34:07 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 2:

I think that you have looked at, I think that Corporal Johnson, you've seen him before. If he was in the bathroom, you wanted to look. Corporal. What's up? How you doing, Johnny? Good. What's up, buddy? First time caller. Yeah. Johnny's on the phone. What's happening?

01:34:28 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 3:

I never, never, never, never look at another man.

01:34:32 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 2:

No? You've never. You've never at the old Joe Lewis Arena in the troughs?

01:34:38 - 01:34:38 | Unknown:

Bro.

01:34:40 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 2:

Yes, you did. You giggled there. By the way, you can't help but look. I remember taking Joey when he was a little kid to a game at Joe Lewis Arena, and I remember him calling out a guy. He goes, he's got a big penis.

01:34:57 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 5:

I'm too scared to take.

01:35:00 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 3:

My dad told me, don't go to those. Never go pee in a trough? Yeah. Well, I feel like, I don't know where we were. Maybe it was a Tigers game or something like that. He was like, we don't pee in those. What do you do? You go to the stall. They have stalls in there.

01:35:13 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 9:

They had one at the public school by my house. It's a choice to go to the trough. The public high school by my house had one of those. And it looked like the ones with Joe Lewis. All I kept thinking to myself was, God, thank God I didn't go to that school.

01:35:25 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 3:

Just think about this, Megan. There are stalls in the bathroom, but men are choosing to go to the open urinal, pull their dicks out, and pee in front of other guys.

01:35:35 - 01:35:39 | Speaker 9:

You can't, but here's the other. That is a choice. You can't be going in the stalls. That's for the guys that have to duty.

01:35:40 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not.

01:35:41 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 9:

Yes. No, you don't.

01:35:43 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 2:

But I would tell my kid to go in the stall. It is a choice.

01:35:47 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 9:

Now I wonder about Kev's size because it's only the guys that-

01:35:52 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 3:

Don't wonder about my size.

01:35:53 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 9:

It's only the guys with small ones that-

01:35:54 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't need to flex and go pee in a trough for all y'all to look at my dick.

01:35:58 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 9:

That's not a flex for me. You don't need to, but you should. It's not a flex, bro. I agree with Kev. What's up? Wait, Johnny, you agree with Kev? Was that Johnny?

01:36:07 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 4:

I agree with Kev. Yeah, this is Johnny.

01:36:10 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, okay.

01:36:11 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 4:

I agree with Kev. I'm on Kev's side today.

01:36:14 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 9:

You use the stall, too.

01:36:17 - 01:36:23 | Speaker 4:

I will use the stall not to look and make sure no one else is looking at myself.

01:36:23 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 9:

You have a little penis. All right. Well, thank you for the call. Koi Sean. Is that right? Wouldn't you miss? Yes, that's correct. Is that right? Koi Sean?

01:36:33 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:36:34 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 9:

Koi Sean. Okay. Yes. It's spelled with a little bit of a hyphen in there.

01:36:40 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 7:

With a Q.

01:36:41 - 01:36:42 | Speaker 9:

Okay. What's going on?

01:36:43 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 7:

I feel like all guys look, especially if you played sports in high school and stuff, you're in a locker room. I mean, all guys know, like, I mean, we're all straight, but there's some stuff that goes on in the locker room ladies would probably freak out about like what enlighten me i mean there's games that guys play like i remember back when i was in high school we played a game called shoulder buddy and that's when you just walk up to your friend and they're like they got their head turned and you put your stuff on their shoulder and now i've never done that The games that used to go on in the locker room You had that fun when you were waiting to go for alpha practice I have never played shoulder buddy Boy Sean you just might have really

01:37:30 - 01:37:32 | Speaker 1:

embarrassed yourself

01:37:32 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 9:

Where'd you go to school?

01:37:37 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 7:

I live in Finley, Ohio

01:37:39 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 2:

That is Finley activity if I have ever worked

01:37:43 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 9:

Y'all really have

01:37:46 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 2:

zero entertainment out there.

01:37:48 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 9:

What's up, Andrew?

01:37:50 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 8:

Hey, you know what? As a gay man, I look at everything. Yes.

01:37:55 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 1:

Yay!

01:37:57 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 8:

I'm a first-time caller, by the way.

01:38:00 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 1:

Yes! Andrew's on the phone!

01:38:03 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 9:

Andrew.

01:38:04 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 8:

My friends are getting undressed in front of me. I'm looking at what they got going on, too.

01:38:10 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 9:

But the thing is, girls are okay with... If you're being gay, girls are okay. hey, they'll show them to you. They won't show them to guys.

01:38:18 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 2:

You just give it up.

01:38:19 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 9:

They won't show them to me.

01:38:20 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 2:

But can you appreciate that girls look good, even if you're not interested in being intimate with them? But guys, even if you're interested in being intimate, never looks good.

01:38:32 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 9:

I don't know.

01:38:32 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I don't know. I just look at everything just to see what the competition's like out there, you know?

01:38:38 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 9:

Absolutely. Thanks, Andrew, for being honest. We appreciate you. Blake actually says Cavs can never go to the big house, right, Blake?

01:38:46 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I don't know if it's the same anymore, but when I was, like, eight, they had, like, the tub-style urinal.

01:38:53 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the troughs.

01:38:55 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 6:

One long tub.

01:38:56 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:38:57 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 6:

I walked in there, and I had to go so bad. And I walked in there, stage fright, a bunch of grown men around me. I looked over, saw a hog. I got right out.

01:39:09 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 9:

Oh, my God. You know what you got to do? You got to go, go blue. Saw a hog. Go blue. I heard him right. He did. Big D is on the phone, and I think we're going to find out how he got the name Big D. What's up, D?

01:39:24 - 01:39:28 | Speaker 5:

First time caller, long-term listener. Big D on the phone.

01:39:29 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 9:

What's up, Big D?

01:39:30 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm just saying, I've been married for 10 years, and I mean, I always look, and always, it's more so like, I wonder if my man's packing. It's more so like that. Yeah. I was talking about it with my wife the other day, and she feels the same way.

01:39:43 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. Kev, I don't, he won't be honest with us, but that's okay.

01:39:46 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 5:

Bro, hey, okay. I swear I'm not homosexual. It's just something that I've always seen the men in my family do.

01:39:54 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes. We've always seen the men in your family do, so this is learned behavior. We love our homosexuals. so we're good hold on look who's on the phone with us Tony Trevano is on the phone I would like you to know

01:40:12 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 1:

01:40:21 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 3:

01:40:25 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 2:

01:40:31 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 3:

by the way this is we just had Big D on this is Big T Bojo in the morning paying bills we're going to give you a chance to win a grand little bit here we also got concert tickets to give away Shannon Megan kev kp lydia mike was with us today uh zach myself mojo good to have you guys here um shannon shannon's got i am not in the wrong shannon you are not bless you by the way shannon you are not in the wrong i think honestly 99.9 percent of parents do the same thing and

01:41:14 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 1:

they have to call us up and admit it to us what's what happened i was doing laundry yesterday and And my little Smith, like he just, he's seven and he carts around so much crap in his backpack and coat pockets and pants pockets. So I was doing laundry and I found a folded up $20 bill in his grimy little pocket. Finders keepers. I kept that sucker.

01:41:44 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 3:

Where did he get a $20 bill?

01:41:47 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I'm thinking his dad. so it makes me not even more so not feel bad about keeping it do you get mad as a parent when

01:41:58 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 3:

you give your kids cash to go to whatever a high school game or or if you give your kids cash to

01:42:04 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 1:

go to this is probably like the vending machine at swim practice he you know got it i don't know

01:42:08 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 3:

and they don't give you the change back a or you find out that they just kept the cash and didn't even go use it for anything like they're just i mean i'm gonna warn everybody in my household

01:42:17 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 1:

If I find it in your pocket, it's mine.

01:42:20 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 3:

What about your husband's? What is that? It's mine. Really?

01:42:23 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely.

01:42:25 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 3:

Is that your fee for doing laundry?

01:42:27 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Actually, Wes does his own laundry.

01:42:30 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 3:

There's a drawer in our laundry room, and it's everything that's out of people's pockets, and there's money that's in there. So if I ever run low on cash, I go and I steal out of the laundry drawer.

01:42:40 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it legitimately went right in my wallet. I always like Smith Smith's pockets are like little a little treasure trove but it's usually rocks chapstick which has really pissed me off because if I miss that it gets all over everybody's clothes um pens like he just yeah he like takes so much mints we went we went to sick salon to get his haircut yesterday and I always have to check his pockets the bowl at the front George He took all of your winter green mints, every single last one. His pockets, he probably had 60 mints in his pockets.

01:43:14 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you, and this is going to sound really bad, but at this salon, I go to the same salon because Katrina works there. Katrina does his hair. Yeah. They have a refrigerator full of a bunch of Cokes that are just sitting there that they'll offer you if you want to drink. I want to go in there so bad and just take about a six pack of them.

01:43:29 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's funny you say that because I told them both no, that they couldn't have Coke because we were going to have pop at the Glenmore Trails thing last night and we're not. We don't really do pop. He thought he was being slick and dumped it in a coffee cup and came over with a coffee cup. I'm like, you're seven. You don't drink coffee. I know what's in there.

01:43:46 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 3:

All right. 844 Mojo Live. If you find money in your kid's room, do you take it and just confiscate it? Right.

01:43:53 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 1:

What?

01:43:54 - 01:43:57 | Speaker 3:

You will. Megan, when you are a mom, you will do the same exact thing.

01:43:57 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely not. Because all of you are terrible people who are teaching your kids the wrong life lesson. You bought me Starbucks the other day. I paid you back with a $10 bill. Where do you think I got that from? No!

01:44:08 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm an accomplice! 313 says that Shannon is the laundry fairy. This is like leaving money under your kids or the tooth fairy.

01:44:18 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 1:

Didn't one of your tooth fairies take money from the piggy bank? Never. I believe one of the tooth fairies did take money from the kids' piggy bank.

01:44:28 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 2:

I've taken money from Joe's piggy bank before. So you took the money to pay the money? No, I took the money because I needed gas and I was broke. And I know I would have put 50s in there and 20s in there before. He'll get it back.

01:44:39 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 3:

There's been many times where there wasn't any cash in the house on lost tooth day. You have to just take it right from them. Look at all these people that are doing this thing right now, admitting to the fact that they do it. They take the money from their kids.

01:44:52 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 1:

Or what did you find in the pocket that was real interesting that wasn't cash? Those are the stories I want to hear.

01:44:58 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 1:

01:46:51 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 1:

what's going on how you doing donnie good morning happy friday

01:46:57 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 5:

um my mom was doing my brother's laundry once and she found a little baggie with some green stuff in it she thought it was the devil's lettuce but really it was catnip why did he have catnip in his pocket um he brought it from our grandmother's house for our cat

01:47:16 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

01:47:17 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 5:

My mom was like, oh, my God, Tyler Joseph, what are you doing?

01:47:22 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 1:

Middle name and all. Courtney, what's going on?

01:47:25 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 5:

I take money out of my kids' piggy banks all the time, and I used to write little notes that say I owe you $15 or whatever, but I just stopped doing that now. Yeah.

01:47:36 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 1:

Stop taking or stop writing a note.

01:47:37 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it's mine anyways. Until they can start doing laundry on their own, I will take anything. They take everything from me, so I'll take that from them.

01:47:45 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 6:

That is mommy money.

01:47:45 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what are you using that money for? Oh, to get my nails done, Starbucks, and then my husband doesn't even see it. It's petty cash. It's free money.

01:47:55 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 1:

We, for the longest time, Chelsea was blaming me, saying I was stealing money out of her wallet. It was never me. It was our kids. Our kids knew exactly where-

01:48:03 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, I do that, too. Oh, God. Yeah.

01:48:06 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 1:

Jake, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:08 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, so I was the one that got robbed. I had already went through and went through my wife and been like, babe, I lost 200 bucks. I don't know where it went. I can't explain it. Da-da-da-da-da. Doing laundry, washing my greasy clothes, found my niece's hoodie, and there's 200 bucks in it. Oh, and a niece. Yeah, and she's always at my house. She robbed me.

01:48:33 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Man, it makes you not trust her anymore, right?

01:48:37 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, she's only like four.

01:48:38 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 1:

the funny thing is when you're a kid you like the change more so than you like the bills it's the

01:48:45 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 2:

smart kids that go right for the big bills the cash the dollars the five the 20 she took it all

01:48:50 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 1:

that's hysterical thank you for the call i uh haven't done the uh top five songs in the country in a while i usually will do it on fridays just kind of getting going in the weekend usually do it to blow ryan seacrest uh sundays here so you guys already know what the number one song was. I remember when I was younger, I used to love listening to the radio to know what the biggest songs in the country were. The Countdown.

01:49:16 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 5:

The Top 10 Countdown at night or whatever. Yeah, I loved that.

01:49:20 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I grew up listening to because I grew up in Chicago. I'd always listen to Casey. Yeah, Casey was great. But I would listen the night show back in the day. We had the Flamethrower in 5 on B96 in Chicago. The Flamethrower in 5 and I wanted to You know, and then I got in the radio and realized everybody just made it up every single week. It wasn't even a legit countdown. But with now with, you know, this billboard charts, I'm looking at this billboard chart. I've never in my entire career have ever seen a billboard chart as weird as this one has been this last summer. And the reason why you can see how many weeks a song has been on.

01:50:00 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 3:

the charts never do you see the top five songs in the country on the charts for 25 weeks and that's what it's been and it's caused for even one artist who's in this top five to basically tell people that even she's tired of her own music the number five song in the country sabrina carpenter says i'm tired of espresso but it's her number five song in the car it's still up there for 25 weeks

01:50:27 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 1:

Number five. Isn't that crazy? I mean, that's good, though, that it has lasting power. Dude, there's a song in the top ten that's been on there for 60 weeks.

01:50:37 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. Yeah, well, let's talk about that after I give you the top five here. This is number four. This song has been on for 21 weeks. Post Malone Morgan Wallen.

01:50:47 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 2:

It ain't like I can make this kind of mess all by myself. Don't act like you ain't helped me pull that bottle off the shelf. Now, here's a new song that's in the top five.

01:51:05 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 3:

It's actually number three song in the country. Number three song is The Weeknd with Playboy Cardi, Timeless. First week, by the way.

01:51:25 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 2:

That's the number three song.

01:51:42 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Number two song in the country, Billie Eilish, Birds of a Feather. That song has been on for 20 weeks now. It's unbelievable.

01:51:55 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 2:

And the number one song in the country for the 25th week, it's been on the charts.

01:52:18 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 3:

I think it has been number one, if I'm not mistaken, like 24 of those 25 weeks. Shaboozy A bar song

01:52:27 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Tipsy Megan, tell that story

01:52:36 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 3:

The song that's been on there for 60 weeks

01:52:38 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 1:

Petty Swins Lose Control, who's actually going to be on our dream ball

01:52:41 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 3:

Is that not insane? 60, the song's in The song has been in the top 10 This entire year It's been there

01:52:51 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 1:

And he has had, he still has, oh, it's like a dance version.

01:53:02 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 3:

Look at that. This is the version that we play at night with our, I don't know. When do we play this? I kind of like it though. You don't like it or no?

01:53:15 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 1:

No, I've never heard it.

01:53:16 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 3:

Tony usually doesn't like stuff like this. I remember talking to him. I'm like, I like dance versions of these rock songs. takes away. Wasn't it Jelly Roll had somebody put a beat behind a Jelly Roll song? It's like, look at that.

01:53:29 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 1:

It's that club, man.

01:53:36 - 01:54:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. We're going to give away tickets to that coming up here in a second. But isn't that wild, though, to think that there have been some songs that have been up in the top for the longest time. I'm like looking at some of these other ones. 60 Weeks is amazing. Like that's unheard of in the top 10. Do you think he's back in the top 10 because he's doing all of the jingle balls?

01:54:07 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 1:

Has he dropped out of

01:54:09 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 3:

the top 10? I don't know. I've not seen him in the top 10. Maybe he's like 13, 14 or something like that. It definitely looks like when you look at the charts sometimes you'll see a song that will be there and you're like oh that's back in the top ten and then oh okay now I understand it maybe they got a tour or something going on people are more interested in their music or they died yeah what are you guys listening to on your your own phones or whatever you listen to

01:54:42 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

me? Robinoff, Jay-Z what more can I say? That's been on repeat lately really and then a guy that's actually opening tonight shannon that you may or may not hear depending on your arrival time at the maxwell concert it's a guy named october london he just dropped the album today called october nights i'm gonna be listening to okay and a little

01:55:00 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 2:

Frank Sinatra is some Maverick City music. You know who I've been listening to a ton by myself and with the kids? And I got to give him a shout out because he's amazing. Forrest Frank. Who's that? So he is, he's technically like a contemporary Christian artist, but he like raps and stuff. Legit, his songs are really good and really, really catchy. And so like we've had that on in the car all the time, all day long.

01:55:23 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 3:

I have been listening nonstop to like three albums. So Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft was definitely big for me this year. Sabrina Carpenter, Short and Sweet. I think there are like 10 amazing songs in that album. And I think there might only be 10 songs. Like, that album is really, really good. And I'm surprised we don't play some of those songs more. And then, you know what else is on here? Beyonce's Homecoming, the live album, her Coachella set, is like one of my go-tos.

01:55:54 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 1:

It's funny.

01:55:55 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 2:

I'm surprised I don't want to show tune on there.

01:55:57 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 1:

My algorithm, it must be something, I use Apple Music, and so I have Apple Music, we'll do randoms. The other day, and I'm not kidding when I say this to you, the other day, it came up with a Diddy song came up, so it was, I'll Be Missing You, followed by a Garth Brooks song. And I wondered if it was throwing up like a weird thing. And I'm like, wait a second, what's next? What's coming out of here after? Am I going to get R. Kelly or something next? But it was weird how that came up. But my music lately has been interesting because my music has all been like, hold on. I'll go to let me go to my music real quick. It's all been like older songs that have been coming up. And it's not a lot of not a lot of new songs. But like here, this is the first song that came up. OK. Yeah. All right. Next song after that. OK. This is my mix. I'm feeling it. All right. Next song after that. I have no idea who this guy is. David Lee Murphy, Kenny Chesney. She rattled the ass in my plastic chair. Yeah. And then Harry Styles.

01:57:05 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 3:

On a summer evening.

01:57:06 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 1:

And then Little Big Town. Like, it's weird. I get, like, this, like, good, like, 2000s vibe followed by, you know, some crazy country crap. I have no idea what the story is. Kenny Chesney's song came on. It's weird. But I kind of, I'll listen to it and I'll go, oh, this is kind of nice. What is that all about? what's up uh how you doing rachel hi how are you guys fantastic what's going on with you

01:57:32 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 4:

so mojo i have to boost your ego a little bit thank you um in the beginning of the summer you had said a bar song was going to be the number one summer song i'm telling you

01:57:42 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 1:

and nobody wanted to listen to it because they thought it was too country i'm the country music songs right now are country music songs are better than our songs that we got coming out here

01:57:54 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 4:

That is a wild take.

01:57:56 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 1:

That's why we're playing them. We're playing them because that's the best music that's being released. Wild take. You can't tell me that the Shibuzi and all the Post Malone stuff that's out there isn't better than any of the...

01:58:10 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it's better than like... Really? I personally like Post Malone's country better. But if I'm talking country music, I am definitely more of a classics person than I am modern country. I think Modern Country is not that great compared to, like, I'm a huge Dolly fan. I love me some Reba. I think if you get into some of the more, like, badass hits of the.

01:58:32 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 1:

That's too deep for me. I can't go that country. Like, I can do a little bit of the Post Malone stuff. But also the other thing, too, is, you know, Eminem, we got to get another song out of the guy. Like, he did such a great job with Houdini. We need another song from the guy. It's a wrap, bro. The album already out. I know, but we need him to find another. He needs to get in the studio with Rihanna again and give us another Rihanna song. I like that. You know? I don't know. Otherwise, hold on. I'm going back. Let me play here. What do I got here? Oh, look at this. Look what the next song comes up. Diamonds. The remix, though. This is a good one, isn't it? Next song after that. Hold on. Oh, I didn't even know what that is. Kathy Dennis, Too Many Walls. These are all mixed. Oh, Tom Petty. Kev, you don't know any of these songs. This is my music. Oh, here you go, Megan. Phil Collins. Something happened on the way to heaven. Oh, my God. That's my music. It's all old stuff. Oh, here you go. It's funny.

01:59:36 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 3:

So you're going through like a curated playlist for you, right? Yeah. I have six a day, and they're all wildly different.

01:59:44 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

It's weird. It's weird how it comes up. Here's one for you.

01:59:47 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 3:

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

01:59:53 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 1:

But it's funny that, like...

01:59:55 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

01:59:56 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 1:

You want to keep going?

01:59:57 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

I play this. I have, like, a...

02:00:00 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 4:

little speaker like when I go golfing like one of my little speakers in the golf cart and I'll play like random stuff and then randomly occasionally a song will come up and be like F mother F F mother F F and Guy likes on a hole next to me is like what the hell is going on there

02:00:16 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 1:

here you go Megan

02:00:19 - 02:00:34 | Speaker 2:

I love Queen you know one of my modified playlists is a 70s hit I listen to a lot of 70s music Tried to get Smith to be Freddie Mercury for Halloween. And he didn't want to do it? No. All right.

02:00:35 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 4:

Mad to me. Kevin, you don't even know this. Oh, you know it.

02:00:40 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 3:

This was a good movie. You got it.

02:00:42 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 4:

It was a good movie. Wayne's World. It was the best. I'm sorry. I thought you were in a bohemian draft. Oh, bohemian. Oh, you weren't. Did you ever see Wayne's World? Yeah, for sure. It was party time. But the Queen movie was a good one, too. It was good. Yeah. mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right shannon this is it it's the last dirty of the

02:01:02 - 02:02:14 | Speaker 2:

week make it good yes yes all right i'm gonna start with this story because it's trending right now academy award-winning actress jessica chastain tweeted and then deleted a complaint about jet blue airlines and she's getting roasted right now for not reading the room and being tone deaf with everything going on in the world and here in the states with the hurricanes etc She was upset, very upset, enough to post it on social media over a flight credit. So she tweeted this, added JetBlue, of course. My flight was $1,500 and the credit is one one hundredth of the money I paid you. Strange that I paid for your flight entertainment system that didn't work for the duration of my six hour flight. But I guess it was worth it for the $15 credit. And then she followed it up by posting screenshots of her exchanges with JetBlue's customer service team. the $15 credit that was issued to her and all of the other passengers. I mean, she just like went on and on about this and social media didn't think it was especially appropriate for a celebrity to complain about $15 on a day when parts of the U.S. are like reeling from back to back hurricanes and don't even have a home at this point.

02:02:14 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, by the way, speaking of travel and stuff, they're asking people to not just randomly just start driving supplies down to Florida and North Carolina.

02:02:26 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 2:

You're going to get stopped.

02:02:27 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 4:

Well, they're saying that people have been so generous with their supplies that you have to try to find an organization to do it. Because the problem is people are driving down and this is what they're doing. This is kind of crazy. They'll go and just drop them off on the side of the road. Yeah, it's not helping. It's more debris that they got to clean up, like randomly. They're saying it's nice, but find an organization to take them first before you go do that.

02:02:50 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 2:

And while we're talking about the hurricanes, a terrible update. At least a dozen people have died in Florida due to Hurricane Milton. While the devastation of Hurricane Colleen, that death toll has risen to more than 230 people at this point. Taylor Swift donating $5 million to Hurricane Relief. Tom Brady announced yesterday he's donating $100,000 to the Milton victims. And Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds also announced a $1 million donation to Relief Effort.

02:03:19 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 4:

I saw you had the Lieutenant Dan thing up here. Oh, yeah.

02:03:22 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 2:

So we can play that because he's kind of gone viral, this man in a wheelchair who, I don't even know how.

02:03:30 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 3:

He lives on a boat. And there are a lot of people on TikTok who have been providing live coverage of the hurricanes. and Lieutenant Dan is one of these popular guys who lives on a boat and refuses to leave. Yeah, refuse to leave.

02:03:43 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 5:

Did you hear about him?

02:03:43 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, here's the clip.

02:03:45 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 5:

Are you okay? Everybody's worried about you. Who's worried about me? It's all over TikTok.

02:03:50 - 02:03:53 | Unknown:

Everybody, like across the country.

02:03:53 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to go live in a minute. Are you going to be okay? I'm going to be fine. I don't think people realize you're so close to down. I mean, you could just get off if something bad happened. You know what I mean? I'm not done to anybody because the safest place to be

02:04:05 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 1:

He was on a boat in a flood. Okay, we learned that with Noah. Everybody that stayed on land drowned. Noah and the animals lived.

02:04:13 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 3:

So they started a GoFundMe. They've raised a lot of money. There's a popular streamer named Aiden Ross who said he was going to give him a $100,000 boat. So with this fame and popularity, obviously people are doing research and backgrounds on Lieutenant Dan. And what they found was that this guy has been convicted of some really bad crimes. Yeah. Kidnapping, pornography, child pornography. Like a lot of stuff.

02:04:35 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, his criminal history is lengthy.

02:04:37 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. By the way, there was a story that was out yesterday that you might see on the news today about the guy that got saved. He was on a cooler. He literally was holding a styrofoam cooler as a way to keep him out of the water. But that was a weird story that I saw. I saw a video of the Coast Guard saving him.

02:05:00 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 5:

And, you know, these are people, a lot of these people are, they say, could not go to safer areas because they just didn't have the means to go.

02:05:08 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, another story trending today, this story about TD Bank that I think broke yesterday. They are in some nature hot water. So over a six-year period, TD Bank, little green logo, you know what I'm talking about, failed to monitor a stunning $18.3 trillion in customer activity, which allowed three different money laundering networks to transfer more than $670 million through accounts at TD Bank. Employees were involved in this. So yesterday, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland held a press conference to explain what was going on.

02:05:45 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 1:

Today, TD Bank became the largest bank in U.S. history to plead guilty to Bank Secrecy Act program failures and the first bank in history to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering. In addition to obtaining today's corporate felony pleas, the Justice Department has also prosecuted two dozen individuals for their involvement in money laundering schemes that moved over $670 million in illicit funds through TD Bank accounts.

02:06:14 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's not good.

02:06:16 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 5:

We'd be tone deaf if we didn't talk about last night's game, but last night's game was... It's a strikeout to end the game. The insurance run for the Guardians in the ninth comes up big. Yeah, that sucked. By the way, if they didn't get that run on the squeeze play that they did, we would have tied the game up and gone to extra innings. Tigers playing tomorrow. It is a win or go home, all-important game number five, and Tarek Skubel will be pitching 8 o'clock game time. We've got to have a miracle. We've got to pray for a freaking miracle.

02:06:51 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 4:

Hopefully Carpenter is back.

02:06:53 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 5:

All is good with the hamstring. Have you heard anything? I've been looking at the Twitter and not seeing anything. Are you shouting out the WNBA? Oh, we missed the WNBA. There was a big comeback win last night, right?

02:07:04 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 4:

I said I would do that story for you. Game one of the WNBA finals was yesterday. The New York Liberty at home against the Minnesota Link. I believe it was 14 points. They were down. The Minnesota Link, the largest comeback in WNBA history. It was an overtime thriller. they lead one game to nothing. Yeah, the Liberty. Thank you, I'm sorry.

02:07:22 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 5:

The Liberty, by the way, are the only of the original WNBA teams to not have won a championship, which is pretty wild.

02:07:27 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 4:

And they got a super team, so this is kind of, they got to do something, break it up.

02:07:31 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 5:

Real quick, Ashley's a winner. Ashley, you're going to Jingle Ball. Congratulations. You got tickets. I'm so excited. We're going December the 10th, hard at Little Caesars. You're in. Congratulations.

02:07:45 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh, thank you so much, guys. I can't believe it.

02:07:47 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 5:

And she's listening to us on the iHeartRadio app.

02:08:50 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 5:

02:09:23 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding? Out of everybody on a device, we're going to call me out. Who else is on a device? Who else is on a device?

02:09:29 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 5:

Is she bored with the show? She's checking some other stuff out. Is that what you're saying?

02:09:32 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 4:

You're the only one with a phone in your hand.

02:09:34 - 02:09:34 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:09:34 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 5:

All right, go ahead.

02:09:35 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 4:

If that's what we do during segments, I cannot wait. I play Tetris and Retro Ball. I call myself up. But here we go. For right now, I need y'all to know. What is the way or what will get a man blocked? On social media, right? I mean, if he's texting you, if we're talking dating apps, social media, if a guy is reaching out to you, what can he say to you? That will immediately result in him getting blocked. Anything about my feet. Wait, wait, what? People have done it? That really creeps me out. I block that person immediately. Like, what did he say? Like, I don't know. Something, like a comment about my feet, I block.

02:10:20 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 5:

What if he says-

02:10:21 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 4:

That happens like once a week.

02:10:22 - 02:10:27 | Speaker 5:

What if he says a compliment that makes you feel good? I block. You have pretty fate. It looks like you moisturize.

02:10:28 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 4:

I block.

02:10:28 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 5:

What if he has Would you Tell us where you get your toes done Because I'd like my wife's feet to look like yours

02:10:38 - 02:10:45 | Speaker 2:

Would that be a block? I wouldn't block But tread lightly sir He can google nail salons

02:10:45 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 5:

But I'm not joking

02:10:46 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 3:

What about Megan?

02:10:49 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 5:

What is yours?

02:10:50 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 3:

Usually they're saying something inappropriate They want to do with my boobs And that would get you gone right away So the boobs are them?

02:10:59 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 6:

There's nothing that a guy can say that, okay, sorry, Megan, I have my follow-up. Wait, hold on.

02:11:06 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 3:

He just pulled out and he's going to watch basketball, and the sound was up.

02:11:12 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 6:

You got me, you got me. Back to the topic. You're a dick. So, like, there's not a compliment, or there's not a one-liner out there that a guy can say that will ever fly?

02:11:22 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 3:

uh usually it's something very vulgar and not like hi how are you doing today it's like i'd like to insert my blank in between your blank how does that sound money you play the motorboat

02:11:34 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 5:

what what if he says i would like my wife's boobs to look like no by the way that okay boobs feet boobs kp lydia go who's next um if i am meeting someone for the

02:11:48 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 2:

first time and this is not like anything inappropriate but if i get the vibe that they're the type of guy who's either extraordinarily competitive in a turnoff icky way or is like i just get very deep i get very you know i like to get deep or emotional and i'm like bro i don't even know you so like if they're if they are asking like really weird questions over text it could be like in-person conversations then i don't block but i wouldn't answer i don't get what do you mean i don't explain you meet someone for the first time and they're asking you like

02:12:18 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 5:

but this is over this is basically over the app you're saying right before you even talk to them

02:12:23 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 2:

any type of communication if i'm just meeting someone to potentially date and they're going strong right away with like really really hardcore questions over text that's a turnoff to me and it's a sign that they're trying to get to a level that they're not quite ready to be yet with me but give

02:12:38 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 5:

me a give me one of the questions because i just don't i still don't get it seems too broad tell

02:12:42 - 02:13:04 | Speaker 2:

me about your most you know traumatic moment of your life oh they're going like get out of here there's some dudes that are like that they're just like they they think that they're like gandhi or something they want to talk to you about your your life and give you like philosophy and i'm like i am they're trying to show not interested in hearing that they're trying to show this side

02:13:04 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 5:

that they care about you but in regards or in reality red flag actually what about the competitiveness that's terrible too what do you mean by the uh give me an example of that i don't

02:13:13 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 2:

know i i i feel like there's nothing so crazy that's going on that that should allow you to be competitive like i can beat your ass and axe throwing or something yeah i i guess i just had a bad experience with an ex who would if he lost a soccer game and that was the last time i met or dated a soccer player if he lost a soccer game he wouldn't talk for the rest of the day that is the most annoying thing ever and if you're so competitive about anything in life like that to where you can't control yourself around the people that you love that's such a red flag to me

02:13:50 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 5:

yeah i agree all right interesting uh the first two were body parts this one was pretty deeper

02:13:55 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 1:

what about you lydia what would get a guy blocked i hear when a guy sounds cheap so when they dm me and ask me for concert tickets right off bat because they know my job it's so gross and it sounds cheap to me i don't know it's like what do you want you want me to take you to a concert no damn it you take me to a concert like i don't like things like that okay did you guys do this

02:14:17 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 5:

by the way all these things that you guys are talking about i have another one i have another

02:14:20 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 2:

one if they start and this is only because of where we work if they start talking about radio and they want to make connections like if they're if they're on hinge and they're like oh yeah i I used to be in radio, and I'm like, oh, that's not really that good of a thing to say to me. I don't want to date listeners. It's because of this. This is how the conversations start. You want to go out on a date? Nope.

02:14:43 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 5:

Wait, if a guy jokingly says, I'm a first time long time, you would not be interested?

02:14:47 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and it goes back to our conversations we've had in the past about dating listeners. I just want to separate that. I don't even want you to know that I do this.

02:14:56 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 5:

That's rough. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-665

02:15:00 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 1:

548 what will get you blocked i'd love to know are there any guys that have ever blocked a girl because they've done something i'd love to hear i've never blocked a girl i would i would love to know though what a guy would block a girl for because i think most guys would deal with crazy until they they showed it in person you know but i would hope if you're in a relationship and

02:15:20 - 02:15:24 | Speaker 4:

somebody won't leave you alone just block them yeah just block them yeah going back to shannon's

02:15:24 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 1:

A texter here texts in to 95500 and says, Shannon, what if they said you have really nice shoes or I like that jacket and they're a guy? If they complimented your clothing.

02:15:36 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, that does not faze me whatsoever. The feet thing really freaks me out.

02:15:41 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 1:

What if they say your feet look good in those shoes?

02:15:43 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 5:

Black.

02:15:44 - 02:16:24 | Speaker 1:

Then they're black. Then a couple of other texters here. 95500 says what if the guy shows you that he listens to the show without being a creepy listener would you completely block them like if they said hey you're my favorite on the show I just wanted to reach out to you that's a complimentary way of saying you're never going to I don't think you're ever going to find somebody that probably doesn't listen to the show because even if at first they don't listen they'll eventually start listening right but what if they compliment you simply and just say Megan hey you're my favorite on the show

02:16:24 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 5:

see I don't think that's bad

02:16:25 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 1:

so that would be okay so you're not completely out of

02:16:30 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't date you for that but I wouldn't block you for that

02:16:32 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 1:

okay so you're still definitely wouldn't date him though Jasmine what's up hi

02:16:36 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 3:

hey I hate when a guy will be like oh you big money I'm like what you gotta get blocked now because it just throws me off I don't like that so if they had a good job and they know you got a good job. They're like, oh, you got a good job. You big money. I'm like, don't do that.

02:16:58 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 1:

Guys have done this to you before?

02:17:00 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And they asked me to give them gas money. See, that's what it is. It ain't the big money. It's the ass. I don't care.

02:17:12 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 1:

Vanessa, what's happening? How are you?

02:17:14 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm good.

02:17:15 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 4:

How are you?

02:17:15 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 1:

Good. What would get a guy blocked on a dating app?

02:17:19 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 4:

The unrequited dick pic.

02:17:21 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 1:

I still don't get it why a guy just thinks that he can just send a d-pic to a girl.

02:17:28 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 4:

A stranger.

02:17:29 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:17:30 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 4:

So many times.

02:17:32 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. We got some guys, by the way, that have blocked girls. You want to hear what they've blocked them for? Will, are you there?

02:17:38 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, man.

02:17:39 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 1:

What did you block a girl for?

02:17:42 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 2:

Talking about money. You know, like talking about all the places that she would like me to take her to go. I think it's just too soon. I don't even know how I feel about you. You know what I'm saying? I mean, I'm not dating now, but, like, when I was dating, that was a big turnoff. I had a girl try to get me to take her and her child to California.

02:18:04 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 1:

How did she do that? Like, what did she say to you?

02:18:08 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 2:

You know, she was just saying that, like, I got family members that was gone, and she was all cuddle up to me and all this and telling me the prices of the room and all that. I'm like, you know, we just kind of reconnected. I've only been going out with you for like a month or two. Like, I'm not doing that because, you know, we're still trying to get to know each other.

02:18:28 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you're turning right in a quarter of a mile. I just want you to know that. That's wild, though, that they would say to you, I want you to take me and my kid to Kalahari. What's up, Lauren?

02:18:39 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you?

02:18:41 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

Good. We were talking about what would get you blocked on a dating app.

02:18:43 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 4:

uh i i think when a guy is too obsessed with his mom it gives me the ick his love for his mother i okay i don't know if that's a blockable offense but it is a big

02:18:56 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 2:

ick so i get you so like give me an example like what would make him talking about everything his

02:19:03 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 4:

mom does and how it's so so great it's not for me if he's a mama's boy i could see that we're

02:19:08 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 1:

if he's just talking about it but if it's on his uh profile he's got him and his mom in the profile

02:19:15 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 4:

is that a bad look no just a picture it's cute it shows he's close with his mom but if you can't stop talking about all the things that you know they do together and all the things that she's

02:19:24 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 1:

great like that's not for me interesting that's weird jayden another guy jayden all right what

02:19:31 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 2:

did you block a girl for okay so i blocked her because she was too interested in my astrology

02:19:37 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 3:

sign every girl is this is a good one i like that one yeah it's a good one it isn't it isn't like she was like oh what month were you born in you know that's fine no she was like what's your rising moon what month were you oh yeah right time what time like was the moon a fall and i agree with

02:19:56 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

that block she tried to give me

02:19:59 - 02:20:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 1:

rocks to put in my bag and said, well, of course, it's for love. And I was like, it ain't that deep, cuz.

02:20:07 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 2:

I think it's tough, though, to find a girl that's not into astrology. A lot of women are into astrology. Kim has been blocked by a member of the Mojo in the Morning Show on their dating profile. Who was it that blocked you?

02:20:23 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 4:

Megan.

02:20:24 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy.

02:20:25 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 4:

What did you say? On a dating profile? And it's not on a dating profile app. It was on one of her posts on Instagram, and I referenced the word fluffy. Fluffy? I would block you, too. That's really a process.

02:20:37 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 3:

What did you say?

02:20:39 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 4:

Well, somebody was posting. Megan posted a picture of herself. Megan, you look amazing, and I'm so happy for you. But somebody was saying about being heavy is okay, and I said being fluffy is not healthy. Megan, I'm sorry. And I wasn't referencing you. I was just making a comment on the post and I never should have but anyway yeah you blocked me for using the word fluffy well I mean that wasn't very nice

02:21:06 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 2:

but you know I kind of like that she's calling us up

02:21:08 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 4:

no I agree Kim that's you that is really big of you it definitely is you know and I give you props a while back and apologize to Megan for that I just realized it was so out of context and so inappropriate and Megan I'm sorry wow

02:21:23 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 2:

I love you I love that I love you too

02:21:27 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 4:

You have to text us your username so she knows which one it is. I don't want you to say it on the air just so she can unblock you.

02:21:36 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 2:

Would you unblock her, Megan? She's not unblocking her.

02:21:38 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't. Maybe.

02:21:41 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:21:42 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 4:

It's definitely a maybe. Hold on.

02:21:43 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 2:

Give Lydia your username and Megan will make the choice and we'll see what happens, okay?

02:21:47 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this will be interesting. Okay. Thank you.

02:21:50 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:21:51 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 4:

Dun, dun, dun.

02:21:52 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 2:

Joe, you had to block a girl. Why did you block a girl?

02:21:59 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Because she said I reminded her of her ex.

02:22:02 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, man.

02:22:03 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 1:

I looked like her ex, and she swiped right, so instantly blocked.

02:22:07 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 2:

You should say, he must have been a good-looking guy. Take that as a compliment.

02:22:12 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 1:

That was a compliment. Yeah, but I don't want any past trauma, you know?

02:22:17 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Tony, what's up?

02:22:20 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 1:

What's up, guys?

02:22:21 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Tony. Listen to what Tony blocked a girl for.

02:22:25 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 1:

So, I blocked a girl on Facebook because she got in my inbox calling me handsome and stuff. So, she baited me in real good. And then the next message she went to, come support my content on OnlyFans. Oh.

02:22:39 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 2:

That's great. I bet that's a popular one, too. Yeah, support my content. What was she doing on OnlyFans? I'd love to know that. What's up, Nathan?

02:22:48 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Mojo?

02:22:49 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? a lot of guys that have blocked girls what did you block a girl for let me tell you if we just

02:22:55 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 3:

start talking and you ask me what other girls i'm talking to at the same time you're automatic goodbye automatic on the block list insecure can go somewhere else that is a concoction for nothing but issues and drama down the road do they just want to know if you have somebody

02:23:13 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 2:

like would you say i am talking to another girl would you be okay but here's the thing mojo you

02:23:18 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 3:

They haven't earned, I guess, the role of being the only one yet. We just started talking. I don't know if I like you or not. You can't come here and start like a dog. You can't pee on me right away when we're brand new.

02:23:32 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she's trying to eye her competition, though. It's called scouting. She's scouting the competition.

02:23:41 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 3:

Listen, if you are right off the rip jumping on me like that, that is just screaming insecurity. that is only going to cause jealousy and issues down the road. That's interesting. That's called a red flag. That's a woman red flag. All these females always talk about what men got, these red flags with men. You come at me right off the rip, right off the jump with these insecurities. Like, am I the only one you're talking to? No, I just talked. I met you. Go on, Nathan.

02:24:04 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Nathan.

02:24:04 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Nathan. You're not wrong. Yeah, go on. I know I'm not wrong. Look, I understand. Then you want to you want to you want the security of knowing I'm you're the only one that I'm talking to. But the reality is, if I just met you, you have not earned that right. The same as a man, the same as a man for a woman. You know, any woman is getting offended by this. First off, go check your DMs and see how many messages you respond to by men. I guarantee it's a lot. But it's the same way. You just start talking to a man. You want to explore your options. Now, again, as a woman, if you're exploring your options, I might treat you as an option as well. It's a give and take world.

02:24:41 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

All right, buddy. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. These are all interesting. These are all very interesting reasons why you blocked somebody. I like the people who say that they busted somebody for using a fake picture because they went and looked at their social aside from there and realized that wasn't their

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 8:

picture and then another person cameron you blocked somebody because why cameron are you

02:25:07 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 4:

talking to me cameron uh that's you yeah first time long time here what did you block a person for um if i go on my news feed and i see a post like every five minutes every single thought that she's coming that she has come to mind she puts on there that's too much for me so posting too

02:25:25 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 8:

much get you blocked yep how many dashes up on their instagram story are you allowing

02:25:32 - 02:25:39 | Speaker 4:

oh i don't know maybe like one every five minutes wow that's a lot that is a total

02:25:39 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 1:

i was like oh damn he's gonna hate me and then i was like oh no i'm good it's time for more mojo mojo in the morning

02:25:55 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 8:

Ba-ba-ba. Joelle!

02:26:01 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Joelle.

02:26:02 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 8:

What's going on? Why am I so energetic and you're not, Joelle?

02:26:05 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I woke up with the worst cold ever.

02:26:08 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 8:

Oh, jeez. You know what? It's the one nostril starter. You got to be careful. It's going around. Everybody's getting it. It starts in one nostril and then you end up with it.

02:26:17 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 5:

It does. I'm in sick and sick and ride and ski all day.

02:26:20 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 8:

Oh, jeez. Well, feel better. This is good. You got tickets to go to the Red Wings game. Against Nashville this weekend. I hope you feel better for this. Otherwise, find somebody that feels good to go, okay?
