All right, are you ready?

00:02:55 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:58 - 00:02:59 | Speaker 8:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:02:59 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 1:

It's showtime!

00:03:19 - 00:03:49 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:49 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 8:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning show. It was like such a happy day yesterday, happy weekend. And then Aiden Hutchinson ends up breaking his leg. And we got details on how bad that break was, how his surgery went last night. All coming up here in just a little bit. So do not go anywhere. But Lions won. That was a huge victory for the Lions. What a game. They're destroying the Cowboys. Oh, my God.

00:04:21 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 1:

Really fun.

00:04:22 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, good game. Man, defense looked amazing. Actually, the defense looked amazing even when Aiden went down, too. It's like even the guys that came in all were up in deck. Prescott's Grill. Is that guy the most overrated guy in the NFL?

00:04:36 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 7:

I'm not going to say he's overrated, but this season isn't a good season.

00:04:40 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 8:

Well.

00:04:40 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 1:

It reminds me a lot, though, of Stafford. You can be a great quarterback, but if you don't have time to do anything with the ball, it's not your fault.

00:04:48 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 8:

I agree. I agree with all of the assessments, but I think he's still overrated.

00:04:53 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 1:

I liked him after Hard Knocks.

00:04:56 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

00:04:56 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 1:

That's the thing about Hard Knocks.

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 8:

They make you fall in love with people.

00:05:00 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 4:

No, I know the the the wildest is just to see that no longer are the Dallas Cowboys America's team. The Detroit Lions are America's team with more people in the stands chanting. Let's go Lions or Jared Goff, Jared Goff. I mean that I've never in my life ever seen AT&T Stadium like that because they have fans that travel across the world to go see those guys. And to see the amount of Lions fans that are on the road, that was incredible.

00:05:33 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 5:

Especially how the game ended last year when we played them. With Decker reporting, you knew this game was going to be that marquee game. I mean, that's why they had Tom Brady on the cast. Like, this was the matchup everybody wanted to see. Although the Ben Johnson trick play.

00:05:46 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

With Panay Sewell? That was a BS flag. That was fire. It was such a horrible thing. He was so upset, too.

00:05:54 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 1:

I love Ben Johnson's faces. I know. I think I have a little crush on him. I kept saying that yesterday, and Wes was like, why are you all of a sudden always talking about Penn Johnson? I didn't want to be like, because he's hot.

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

Is he hot, or is he hot because we know how good he is?

00:06:10 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

I think that figures into it, but I do think he's kind of hot.

00:06:14 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 5:

It's crazy when your girl is not even interested in the player. She's looking at an offensive coach. That's different.

00:06:20 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I could put up with that. I would have you leave the room at that moment if I was Wes.

00:06:25 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Is that quarterback from Notre Dame playing, or is he just on the bench and a rookie and smoking hot?

00:06:31 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 4:

With the hair?

00:06:31 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. That hairdo from Notre Dame, the one that Chelsea liked last year? Chelsea had the biggest crush on him.

00:06:35 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, the guy that had the beard and everything? Sam something or another?

00:06:40 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 5:

He's on Dallas?

00:06:41 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 3:

No. Is he on Baltimore, maybe?

00:06:44 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Oh, you're just yelling out random.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hot guys.

00:06:47 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

I thought we were talking about hot guys in the NFL. I thought that was where this topic went. I'm sorry. Have you seen their tight pants?

00:06:53 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 4:

Listen.

00:06:53 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 2:

When they wear white, sometimes you can see their jock straps, okay? It's fun.

00:06:57 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 4:

I got to tell you that I think that I see more women that are Dan Campbell guys or girls. You know what?

00:07:04 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

He is weirdly hot, but I think that's confidence and personality and control.

00:07:09 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 4:

You know that that guy just seriously lays the pipe, doesn't he? Dan Campbell.

00:07:14 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 5:

You're still on this?

00:07:16 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 4:

I thought that was Friday show. Dan Campbell, the man, the myth, the legend. And I'd look, wouldn't you, Kev, if you were peeing next to him? Absolutely. Here you go again. You're back. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. So Kev has a court date tomorrow.

00:07:32 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, man.

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 4:

And it's, what is it for?

00:07:36 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 5:

So I want to be careful with what I say and what I don't say. Because I never want to put myself in a position where it seems like I'm admitting to something that I may or may not have done. So I want to be very careful with my choice of words. So I was leaving a dinner and I got caught in a speed trap, not saying I was speeding or not speeding. I'm just saying the officer was sitting in what they consider to be a speed trap. I was pulled over for whatever reason. And the officer comes up to me after getting my license and all the information and says, hey, I read your driving history. You have perfect history. You are the perfect example of what a good driver in the state of Michigan should be. And I'm like, you're right. Thank you, sir. I can leave. He's like, wait a second. I'm here and I'm going to write you a ticket for whatever reason. And he says, I'm only going to write you a ticket for going five over. I'm like, okay, if you have to do it, then you have to do it. So I scurry about. I call up the county, make my court date, doing all the things. As you mentioned, the court date is tomorrow. Because you want to fight it, right? I want to fight it, damn it. What do you want to fight?

00:08:49 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 4:

Were you speeding or not speeding?

00:08:51 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 5:

I plead the fifth. I don't believe I was speeding. I don't believe I was speeding. You were absolutely speeding. I do not believe I was speeding. I believe that I was a law bar.

00:08:58 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 4:

I think you can ask to see the radar.

00:09:00 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

Is that a real thing?

00:09:01 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

I think you can.

00:09:03 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 3:

It's like, do you want to start issues or not? Because the people who ask to see the radar are being buttholes.

00:09:08 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you don't want to get to that. When he comes up to you and says that you have a perfect driving record, you are the model person for the state of Michigan, and then he gives you the ticket, you must not be so model. I mean, that's crazy.

00:09:24 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 5:

He wants to build you up and soften the blow. Maybe that's what it is. He's jabbing me, and then he's going to come with the right hook. But first off, I want to get to this radar thing. So if I ask to see the radar, is it like a radar gun? I don't know.

00:09:36 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 4:

What is he going to show me? Call, what's your classmate that's a cop that calls us up all the time? Oh, Shay? Yeah, let's call Officer Shay.

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's interesting, because if I got to get out the car and walk to your car in

00:09:46 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 4:

order to see something, we doing too much at that point. Well, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. What is your question that you would like to ask?

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

So here's the thing. So the court date is tomorrow. I'm reviewing the ticket to make sure I have all my ducks.

00:10:00 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 2:

a row because like shannon said i'm here to fight this thing over zoom volume up background ready to go okay i'm gonna sit on my own bench i look at the remarks now he said with his words i'm only gonna write you a ticket for five over in the footnotes in the remarks of the ticket it says actual speed 15 over yeah isn't that not crazy how are you gonna tell me i'm going i'm gonna write you a ticket for five over and then try to dog me out in the remarks that the judge will actually see and tell me I'm going 15 to 20 miles over the actual speed limit

00:10:34 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 4:

because you would go to court and say it was only five miles an hour and the judge will be like yeah that cop was crazy must have been in a bad mood who writes a ticket for five over they're being nice they put yeah that is not nice that's not nice that's a

00:10:49 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

lie I think that I think when they say they're writing you're only for five over I think that's code for, we still got you and you're still getting in trouble.

00:10:57 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 4:

What's racing in Michigan?

00:10:59 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:10:59 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 4:

Because like in Ohio, operating, what is it called? It's like a reckless operation or speeding or racing is 20 miles over the speed limit. And if you do that, they can tow your car and take your license. Oh boy. So when they're being nice, they're writing you a ticket for five or 10 over, but not taking your car or your license.

00:11:19 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 3:

I like how he says though that he wasn't speeding at all. You know he was. The guy speeds in the parking lot here at the station.

00:11:24 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 4:

He's preparing for his appearance tomorrow.

00:11:27 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 3:

We'll be calling you as a witness. Gemma, what's up?

00:11:30 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 6:

Hello. Actually, I have something that you can also ask them.

00:11:35 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 3:

What's that?

00:11:35 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 6:

If you go to court. I've actually had judges ask me if my husband was a lawyer or a police officer. So you need to find out if there is a road engineer survey for the speed limit. And you can also ask them, the officer, if he is, what was the wording? if he is legally allowed to operate that radar detector gun. And if so, was it calibrated?

00:11:58 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you might as well ask the officer if his wife enjoys sex with him because you're about to get your ass in trouble if you ask all those questions.

00:12:10 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 4:

It's like the people that say, I wasn't driving, I was traveling. Or I'm not going to give you my license and registration, I was traveling.

00:12:18 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 3:

You're asking for trouble.

00:12:19 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 6:

They have that with them whenever they go into court, the cops.

00:12:23 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 3:

Gemma, have you done this and gotten off?

00:12:25 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I have, three times.

00:12:26 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Oh, my God. That's amazing. Dylan, what's going on?

00:12:31 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I'm actually an officer in Metro Detroit.

00:12:34 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 3:

And are you officially calibrated? I don't know.

00:12:38 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 1:

I am certified as a speed enforcement officer.

00:12:40 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. What should Kev do?

00:12:43 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 1:

So Kev should probably just go and ask for a non-moving or a zero-point violation instead of the one-to-five, which is two-point.

00:12:50 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and just ask, you know, excuse me, officer, judge, I, you know. Leniency? I'm a single father. I am working hard for a living. Like, you know, plead for him. Times are tough. Like a loaf of bread now costs $10.

00:13:05 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

How many points is 15 over?

00:13:08 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 1:

What's that? How many points? 15 over is four points.

00:13:10 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

So the cop did do you a favor by giving you two points instead of four. Okay, still though.

00:13:15 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 2:

But Dylan, is he doing me a favor if in the remarks, He says that I was going 15 over.

00:13:22 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 1:

He has to put that because when you go to fight the ticket, he's going to amend it to a 15 over charge.

00:13:26 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh. All right. Thank you, Officer Dillon.

00:13:30 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 1:

If you want to fight one to five, you're going to lose.

00:13:31 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 3:

Appreciate it. By the way, two points on your driving record means your insurance goes up. What's up, Michelle?

00:13:37 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 5:

Good morning.

00:13:38 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Hi. What should Kev do?

00:13:41 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 5:

So I did the same thing. I went to court and fought it because I didn't see if I was actually cheating because they wrote me for five over, which was in a seating. I'm like, no, I'm going to fight this because I had a good driving record. And then I went to court, and they ended up changing it over to seating, and I got two points on my license to pay.

00:14:01 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 3:

So you fighting it made it worse?

00:14:04 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 5:

It did. And I asked, I said, well, how come I can't see the radar? I said, because you guys can write anything down because they actually had the wrong license plate number and everything on my ticket.

00:14:15 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you would think that would be...

00:14:17 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 5:

And I tried to fight it, and I was like, that's not even my license plate. They're like, yeah, but this was your car.

00:14:22 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 3:

I think that they have...

00:14:24 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 5:

There's not proof.

00:14:24 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 3:

There's a thing on the bottom of the ticket, because somebody said that they tried it one time in tax. They tried it one time because they wrote the wrong name, but they have a thing where they say, officer error in that deal.

00:14:37 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Interesting. From the last car, I guess.

00:14:40 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Kev could call TicketFixPro.com. That's TicketFixPro.com. That's what I said to you. Call TicketFixPro.com. Honestly, I do think that, Kev, you are the best at making your enemies your friends. And what I think you should do is just put on the charm. The only problem is Zoom sometimes doesn't get the charm out.

00:15:00 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 1:

Like the charm would be. And guys, I guarantee Wednesday show, he's going to come in and be like, not only did I get my ticket, you know, get out of my ticket, but now I'm doing an appearance for the first thing. And they're going to sponsor breaking it every Christmas. He craps rainbows, doesn't he?

00:15:16 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 4:

It's true. It's unbelievable. By the way, whatever you do, don't do what that one guy did and don't be driving while you're doing the Zoom and don't fall asleep while you do the Zoom. Because that would be the worst. And they also say, by the way, somebody told me this, don't wear your hat, don't wear a hat when you're doing the Zoom.

00:15:32 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:15:33 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 4:

Because they say, like, dress like appropriate or look appropriate, you know, or something like that. All right. The judges will do that. Good to know. Yeah, you're right, Shannon. He does. A guy gets in trouble with the boss all the time. Next thing you know, he's like, hey, you're not going to believe this. I got an air shift on Saturdays.

00:15:48 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 2:

This mojo in the morning is back in the day. Let's go. Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:15:54 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 4:

All right. What are we giving away this week? We got tickets to see Justin Timberlake. What? Yes. Justin Timberlake, October the 25th at Little Caesars all this week with the back in the day. It was the year that a contestant was found cheating on who wants to be a millionaire.

00:16:11 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 2:

The plan was that Wittek would signal correct answers with a cough. I think I'm going to go for a full bite.

00:16:22 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 4:

That was pretty obvious. Princess Diaries was the big movie.

00:16:26 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 3:

I look like a moose. Yes, but a very cute moose. Make all the boy moose go. Wah!

00:16:33 - 00:16:34 | Speaker 1:

I have antlers.

00:16:35 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 3:

Wah!

00:16:36 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 4:

And the big song, Destiny's Child, Independent Women. Wasn't this from the Charlie's Angels movie? It was. What year was it? We'll set you up with tickets to see Justin Timberlake this week.

00:16:49 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 2:

You talk a big game in the car. Now prove how smart you are. Tell us the year this stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. We give you clues. You tell us the year. We give you cool prizes.

00:17:10 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 4:

Remember the game show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Somebody got caught cheating in this year.

00:17:14 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 2:

The plan was that Witterk would signal correct answers with a cough. I think I'm going to go for Paul Ryan.

00:17:26 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 3:

The movie The Princess Diaries hit theaters.

00:17:29 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 1:

I look like a moose.

00:17:30 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 3:

Yes, but a very cute moose. Make all the boy moose go. I have antlers.

00:17:39 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 4:

And the big song from Destiny's Child. What year was that cat?

00:17:45 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm so excited. Happy Monday, everyone. Happy Monday.

00:17:50 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, what year was it? 2001. There you go. You slipped that in there when we were saying happy Monday to you, too. Congratulations to you. Yes, it was. 2001. What gave it away?

00:18:03 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 3:

It was the Princess Diaries movie, for sure. Oh, yeah.

00:18:05 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 4:

That's a great movie.

00:18:06 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm so excited.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:10 - 00:19:20 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with an update for us right now in the Dirty on the 30. I know you're going to be updating throughout the morning the latest that we get from the Detroit Lions on Aiden Hutchinson.

00:19:21 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that gruesome leg injury, man, that he sustained during last night's game. I accidentally watched the video of it. If you're squeamish, I'm just warning you, it's bad. But while sacking Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in the third quarter, Hutch's leg whipped around and inadvertently hit one of his teammates, McNeil. And he kept mouthing, if you look at the thing, I broke it. He knew. The air cast was brought out. He was eventually carted off. Here's Dan Campbell after the game. He's in good hands right now. He's being taken care of. He'll stay back here. And, you know, obviously he's going to be down for a little while. And so that's tough, man. It's hard when you lose somebody like him. But we'll know a lot more after this and obviously wish him the best.

00:20:14 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so officially it was a broken tibia. And like you just heard Coach Campbell say, Hutch will be staying in Dallas for a while. Now, here's the thing. A source close to Aiden told the Detroit News late last night that the injury appears to be less severe than a worst case scenario. And he actually might be able to return for the Super Bowl should the Lions make it. So we're kind of hearing like opposite reports because you said on the way in this morning that you had heard it was so bad that he may be out for longer than that. So I don't know.

00:20:48 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 4:

We're going to talk to an orthopedic doctor this morning that will tell us this type of a break, it's a compound fracture. Being a compound fracture, is a player able to come back and be able to play in months, or is this a process that's going to take a year or possibly longer? I mean, there was many people that thought when they saw that break, I mean, I was looking on Twitter and I was watching some of the comments. Adam Schechter and those guys that are the football analyst guys were saying, and they were saying that this is not a good situation for him. But, you know, I don't know if the Lions are thinking about this. We should get that guy, Crosby, that plays for the Raiders and is from Eastern Michigan. Could you imagine if we could make a trade? And that team's imploding right now. The Raiders are imploding. I'd offer them the kitchen sink for him.

00:21:33 - 00:21:37 | Speaker 2:

Did you hear about the Raiders? Oh, go ahead. Do you think he was on track for Defensive Player of the Year?

00:21:38 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Aiden Hutchinson. He was leading the league in sacks. Absolutely, yeah.

00:21:41 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of the Raiders, Tom Brady expected to be approved as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders at tomorrow's NFL Fall League meeting in Atlanta. The NFL's Finance Committee apparently has reviewed Brady's bid, plans to bring it to the other owners to vote, with 24 of the league's 32 owners needed to approve it. But a source telling ESPN the committee wouldn't even be bringing Tom Brady's bid to the owners to vote if it weren't going to be approved. So basically now, it's just a formality. he would be purchasing approximately 10% of the Raiders.

00:22:13 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

Did you hear him yesterday during the game when he was asked the question by Kevin Burkhart of if you could come back and play in the league right now, what team would you want to play for? He said the Lions have the best offensive line, the best receivers, the best running backs, and by far the best offensive-minded coach.

00:22:30 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:22:31 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

Did you see that game yesterday? I thought he was actually better than he was the first time that I had heard Brady do that. So he's definitely gotten better at doing the in-studio or the color commentating stuff.

00:22:43 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 2:

Lauren Pestiotta, who was a former assistant to Kanye West, is now coming forward to accuse him of drugging and sexually assaulting her at a ditty party. Lauren said Ye sought her and her former music client out, invited them to a party in Santa Monica one night. She said Kanye told everybody to drink that night or leave. strict orders from Kanye. And after a few sips of whatever she was drinking, she started to feel disoriented. The next day, she said she didn't remember anything that happened. Her music client told her she was too traumatized and disturbed to speak about what happened the previous night. And Lauren said it wasn't until after Kanye fired her in 2022 that he confessed that they had hooked up. And when she said she couldn't remember anything from that particular night she said kanye just laughed and told her women love to say they don't remember so she is now currently suing kanye for wrongful termination and sexual harassment she also is telling some other stories she said that he used to send her x-rated photos of himself videos of him baking cookies with other women uh he once locked himself in a room and pleasured himself next to her before falling asleep kanye's lawyers say these claims are baseless and that she has been blackmailing

00:24:04 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 3:

him since june yeah in june and obviously i'm pro kanye but i'm not pro demon so if somebody is a bad person and i'm gonna stand by that this is the same assistant that sued him for sexual harassment back in june so i don't know what happened with that case but now we're attaching it to a diddy

00:24:23 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 2:

case so hopefully we get justice either way and halloween is still america's top holiday in terms of candy sales but fewer people are buying chocolate because it's so darn expensive retailers are stocking themselves with less chocolate this year i noticed this and more like gummies and licorice or candy type of items candy like sour patch kids and twizzler ghosts are replacing a lot of the pricier chocolate options. And they said that chocolate prices have jumped by more than 40% since 2020. That's a lot.

00:24:58 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:24:59 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Everything's going up.

00:25:00 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

even Halloween candy.

00:25:00 - 00:25:02 | Speaker 2:

Reese's are still so good, though. Reese's peanut butter.

00:25:02 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 1:

And they make them smaller than ever. They're charging you more, and they're smaller than ever. They're not fun-sized. I just want you to know that.

00:29:19 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 3:

Jesse Palmer. Yes. Yes. One to nothing.

00:29:23 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 1:

00:29:44 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 2:

One to nothing.

00:29:44 - 00:30:01 | Speaker 1:

Although Alina got mixed up because she did do a Celine. She did do a Celine, yeah. Yeah, but Celine doesn't sing Gimme More. Question number three. Question number four. Nick Cannon admitted that he used to go to Diddy's parties when he was 16 or 17 years old. What reality competition show does he host? Oh, um... America's Got Talent? It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. All right, it is Mojo in the Mornings show. Shannon, how was your weekend? How was that concert, by the way, that you went to? Wes's favorite group or favorite artist of all time?

00:32:10 - 00:32:12 | Speaker 2:

One of them, yeah. Maxwell.

00:32:12 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 1:

You went to it. Who's his others? What did you say? You said one of his favorite artists. I'm wondering what's his others' style.

00:32:17 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 2:

He's like an old school rap and R&B guy.

00:32:19 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:32:20 - 00:34:04 | Speaker 2:

So that whole genre of music would be all of his faves. but he loves Maxwell and so Maxwell was playing at Little Caesars Arena on Friday night and I had gotten him tickets for his birthday so but I told you guys this I had never really heard of Maxwell minus like one song that I knew and so leading up to the show I had been trying to listen to his music just because it's more fun to go to a concert when you know some of the songs and you can sing along right I just and Kev I know you love him too it's just not my kind of music it's not my cup of tea He's very talented and very good looking, by the way. But I, you guys, was exhausted. On Friday night, it was just a long week and a long day. And I didn't really get to take a nap before the show. And we had dinner plans. And so I, not helping my case, by the way, I had a glass of wine at dinner. And then I had a glass of wine once we got to LCA to watch Jasmine Sullivan, who was fabulous in one of the openers. And so by the time Maxwell took the stage, I was wiped. And not to mention, really nobody stood up during the show. Most of the people sat down unless you were like right in front of the stage. And we were kind of off to the side in Section 110. Can I tell you, I love concerts like that. Oh, well. I love it. But when you're already tired and you're sitting down and Wes was sitting to the right of me closer to the stage. So he was sitting facing the stage. I was sitting next to him, but slightly behind him. And so I had my arms wrapped around his shoulders and neck. And my chin was resting on his shoulder. I got an hour and a half nap.

00:34:04 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

00:34:05 - 00:34:36 | Speaker 2:

And I don't think he knew. I don't think he knew. I pulled a mojo. Because he, anytime he kind of stirred a little bit, like he was singing and swinging, which also was not helping my cause because he was essentially rocking me to sleep but if he would turn around I knew well enough to like open my eyes and pretend that I was watching it but I just couldn't I felt so I he's sleeping I don't think he knows that that happened because he's like how did you like the show I'm like I mean it was good I couldn't tell you how many songs he sang

00:34:36 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 1:

is Maxwell's music like low key like R&B like is it like Usher Neo-ish or something like that he's got some slow songs but he has some upbeat rhythmic songs okay because because megan's right i hate that i have to stand i bought a seat for a reason and i hate having to stand the entire show if i was at a show like that man i'd take a nap too a little siesta there are concerts made for dancing and jumping and cheering and singing and there are other concerts made for sitting and listening and Adele is a sitting and listening kind of concert yeah I think this might have been more a sitting and listening or sitting and sleeping which was me I was so scared that the people around us were gonna out me when it was when it was done because we stood up at the end after all the lights went up and Wes was like thank you so much that was the best birthday gift that was bucket list for me and as soon as he said that was bucket list for me I'm like crap

00:35:29 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 5:

i like really should have tried harder it's funny megan says that she pulled the mojo and it's because i've fallen asleep at shows but most infamous one was uh an avenged sevenfold uh rage against the machine show wow insane two of the loudest awful music my uh joe wanted to go to it my son wanted to go to it and i was like all right i'll take you it was the worst ever but I fell asleep. I can't. So did Maxwell or anybody notice? Like, did any people notice? Or did we get any? Anybody see?

00:36:04 - 00:36:11 | Speaker 1:

I mean, Maxwell couldn't see me because I wasn't that close. But I'm sure the people around us knew that I was out.

00:36:12 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're out. Look at that lady. She's sleeping. Now she's drooling. Was it one of those sleeps?

00:36:20 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 1:

But I was smart enough that when I was awake, I was taking videos. And so then I sent him all the videos. on Saturday morning and he was like thank you so much was it was it one of those sleeps that was

00:36:32 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 5:

the 38 seconds I was awake one of those sleeps where you need a chiropractor because you jarred your head back so fast like you're pretending I'm not sleeping no because I was leaned up against him yeah it was perfect but I always when I fall asleep in places I'm not supposed to like church I always end up going huh huh and I move my head back so far that I literally give myself whiplash

00:36:52 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 6:

Yes, yes.

00:36:54 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Has anybody ever fallen asleep at a concert before? And which concert did you fall asleep at? Does church concerts count? Oh, yeah. Bro. Absolutely.

00:37:15 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 6:

When I was younger, my grandma used to take me to these revivals. Oh, my God.

00:37:18 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 4:

That sounds like seven hours long. Dog. Okay. That's a loud thing.

00:37:22 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 6:

No, my grandma, it used to be them revivals where it was almost like a church competition where they would have like seven different choirs from different churches come and sing. Oh, my God. She used to pinch me in like the fat part of my arm.

00:37:36 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. No.

00:37:38 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 6:

No, that's one way to wake you up.

00:37:39 - 00:37:52 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, that's better. My grandma used to take me to these like meetings. I don't know what they were. They were in like a private room at Denny's, which I didn't even know some Denny's have private rooms. What? And everybody spoke in tongues. it was so weird

00:37:52 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 4:

VIP I did this is crazy I took over my hammy and closed the door I swear

00:38:02 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 6:

that's like a poor memory in the secret room that's so cool do you think there's an upcharge for that?

00:38:14 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 4:

honestly here's the funny part

00:38:16 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 1:

I was so little I don't think I was of reading age It probably just had a yellow sign, and she told me it was Denny's, and it was somewhere else.

00:38:27 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 6:

It wasn't even Denny's.

00:38:30 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Mojo in the morning, what concerts did you fall asleep at? Hi, Natasha.

00:38:37 - 00:38:54 | Speaker 4:

So I took my five-year-old son to see Meghan Trainor, and we were, like, listening to you guys just now. And he's, like, in the back, and he goes, oh, yeah, I fell asleep with a Meghan Trainor concert. because he was laying out on the yard or whatever with his blanket. He was all snuggled up. That's right.

00:38:54 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 5:

The lawn is actually a good place to go fall asleep there. Exactly. It's a late night, too, and it was probably contact high from the weeds. What's up, Joey? Hi.

00:39:06 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how's it going? Good.

00:39:08 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 5:

Shannon fell asleep at a concert this weekend. What concert have you fallen asleep at?

00:39:12 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 2:

Well, it wasn't me who fell asleep, but back in March, went to an NF concert. Me and my wife and two sons, and we're having a good time about halfway through, standing up, and I look down to my left, and my one son is just curled up into a ball in the chair, and he's just asleep. And then at the concert, loud as could be, and he's just sleeping.

00:39:33 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that is actually kind of a loud concert. It's amazing that you're able to sleep at it, but you know what? It's good background noise for you. Brandy didn't fall asleep at a concert. What did you fall asleep at?

00:39:44 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 3:

I fell asleep at a Kevin Hart show. Oh, wow.

00:39:49 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 5:

I would be worried that he'd call you out.

00:39:51 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, we were way up in the back, and I used to get up at 3.30, quarter to 4 to go to work. So even on Saturdays, I was ready for bed by 19.

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and the show didn't start until then, so I was just gozing off.

00:40:05 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 1:

I could see that. Did it start slow, or were you just tired fast?

00:40:09 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 2:

No, I thought it was a good show. I was just exhausted. I mean, you guys get up that early, and I just have to stay awake.

00:40:16 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 1:

I get it. Yeah. No, it's brutal. Tim, where did you fall asleep?

00:40:21 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 5:

I fell asleep at WWE WrestleMania.

00:40:25 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow.

00:40:26 - 00:40:27 | Speaker 5:

At MetLife Stadium.

00:40:28 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:40:28 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 5:

In front of like 60,000 people. Yeah, it's the big one.

00:40:32 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 1:

So you fell asleep at a WWE WrestleMania, like one of the biggest events ever. Do you think it could be the altitude from how bad the tickets were, or what do you think it was?

00:40:43 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 5:

I was up early that morning. We went tailgating there and everything. So it was like, the event itself was like five hours.

00:40:51 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 1:

You didn't fall asleep. You passed out. You drank too much.

00:40:54 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that could be it. I get it.

00:40:58 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 1:

I've seen guys like you at a Lions game that get down there at, like, 9 o'clock in the morning. What's going on, Lindsay? Hi.

00:41:05 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 4:

Hi. How are you guys?

00:41:07 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 1:

We're good. We're talking about Shannon falling asleep at a concert. Where did you fall asleep?

00:41:13 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 4:

I fell asleep standing up. I was a little intoxicated at a Tech 9 concert.

00:41:18 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Do you guys remember Tech 9?

00:41:20 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 4:

I remember when he came in the show a couple of times. Yeah. It was like 10 years ago.

00:41:25 - 00:41:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a show that honestly is loud and banging like a rock concert. You know what I mean? Yeah, it was a lot of fun. I'm telling you, I think it's the contact high, too, though.

00:41:47 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 2:

I have some little kids in the background, but they want to say something to you guys really quick.

00:41:51 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 1:

Sure.

00:41:51 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 4:

My kid wanted to say first time long time. Kids on the phone.

00:42:01 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 1:

What are their names? So Kevin can say it.

00:42:04 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 4:

That's Mikey and Nelly. Mikey and Nelly on the phone. So cute.

00:42:08 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's the best.

00:42:10 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 4:

They want to call you guys every morning, and we finally got through, so they were super excited. Oh, that's cute.

00:42:15 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 1:

That's great. That's so cute. Thank you for the call. Appreciate it.

00:42:18 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, guys. Bye.

00:42:19 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 1:

The worst is when you fall asleep at one of your kids' musical concerts. Like if you go to your kids' stuff, and your kids are now in band, right? Or Lucy is, right?

00:42:29 - 00:42:32 | Speaker 4:

Orchestra. Orchestra. Cello.

00:42:32 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 1:

Poor Lucy. That's my mom sleeping there. Kendall, where did you fall asleep?

00:42:39 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 4:

I fell asleep at a musical in Chicago once.

00:42:42 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 1:

Which musical?

00:42:44 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 4:

I can't recall. I think it was called Aida. I can't remember. I was in eighth grade on a band field trip. Oh, okay. We had been traveling all day, and I had saved up all my money to go on the Chicago trip, and the first thing we did was go to this musical, and I was passed out and fired.

00:43:01 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

00:43:01 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 4:

Don't recall anything.

00:43:02 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 1:

Those field trips with long bus rides are exhausting. You never sleep on the bus, but you can sleep when the lights go down.

00:43:09 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 4:

It's so exhausting.

00:43:09 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:43:10 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 4:

It's so exhausting. I feel like it takes longer to get there.

00:43:13 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Crazy, what's that, man?

00:43:14 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 2:

That musical is so good. Was it? I was so upset for you.

00:43:17 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you know exactly which one she was talking about.

00:43:19 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 2:

Don't cry for me.

00:43:20 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's Evita. Is that what she said?

00:43:21 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:43:22 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Asleeper. Asleeper. Alex, when did you fall asleep during?

00:43:28 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 3:

So dumb. Me and my five-year-old son fell asleep at Paw Patrol Live. Oh, God. That tracks. I did it.

00:43:37 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 1:

That's one of those ones where you hope that your kid is still there when you wake up, right?

00:43:42 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, my wife was the only one awake, and she just looked over at both of us, and we were both, like, nodding off and just trying to stay awake.

00:43:49 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't think I've ever watched any kid movie that I've taken them to, I'd imagine. I think I've fallen asleep all the time with my arms around them holding them. Ari, what's up?

00:43:58 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, guys. I fell asleep at a Migos concert.

00:44:01 - 00:44:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Migos. Is it because they started so late? They were supposed to be on stage at 8? They didn't get on stage until, like, 10?

00:44:10 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 4:

Yes, that was one of the reasons. I might have also drank a little too much.

00:44:13 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Well, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Got to shout out the Milford Mustangs. They are the younger kids that play football before they go on and become Milford Mavericks at the high school. I went to a football game this weekend for Tony's kid, Christopher. So Tony's son, Christopher, is actually a really good team. Very good football player. This kid is amazing. Watching him. So I got a chance to meet a bunch of hot moms from Milford. We got MILF moms in Milford all hanging out there, which was very nice. But I wanted to bring this up on a totally different note. I'm going to call this Terrible Tony. Tony, our boss. We talk about him all the time. Tony Travato. Travato. I've been wanting to go see one of Christopher's games, and he kind of felt bad that his last home game of the year, last regular season home game, was this Saturday. And listen to this. Tony felt like a bad dad because he was not going to be able to be at the entire game because he went to the Tigers game in Cleveland. And so he was driving there. So the whole thing was it was going to be perfect. The Tigers were playing at 8 o'clock at night. Christopher was playing at 9 o'clock in the morning. Everything was all right until they moved the game time up to 1 o'clock.

00:45:35 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes.

00:45:37 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 1:

So instead of choosing his son, he chose the Tigers to go to.

00:45:42 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 2:

No, he did not.

00:45:43 - 00:47:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Tony. Actually, to be honest with you, and I'll tell you this, and this is why I bring this up because I'm like, I'm going to jab him all the time and go, man, you're a great dad. That was really good of you. He felt like such crap, and I think that he felt even worse, not just for his missing some of his son's game. He missed like the second half of it. But he also felt bad because he left Brooke with all the stuff to do for the kids, his wife. But I wanted to ask this question. What parent moment did you miss of your child's and what did you miss it for? What was the thing that you missed that was a big moment for your kids and what did you miss it for? Because in honor of Tony, Tony missed and Brooke and I were going to give him crap, we were going to tell him that Christopher ran back 100 yards kickoff return had the game winning interception something like that, like one of those moments 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665 6548, oh look at this and we're not talking about Tony's junk today we got kids that are listening that's a good thing we're going to talk about The kind of dad he is. Which, by the way, I do have to say this, Tony. It wasn't a bad dad moment because you also were taking your oldest son, Nick, to the game. So you were having a great dad moment with your oldest son and, you know, spreading the wealth around the kids.

00:47:09 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 3:

Playing favorites.

00:47:10 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:47:10 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's be honest, though. I asked a couple of buddies and they couldn't go.

00:47:15 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, take the win, man.

00:47:19 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 3:

Tony. Yeah, this is the dad of the year trophy. I know.

00:47:23 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 1:

Truth or not truth on this one, did you beg Nick to go to the game with you or even bribe him just so you didn't look worse to your wife, Brooke?

00:47:33 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, 100%. It was a lot easier if Nick went.

00:47:37 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because if I had those moments where it was one of those times where Chelsea would look at me like, I can't believe you're going to do this. But if I'm taking one of the kids with me, then, you know, it's okay. That's all right.

00:47:48 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I have to tell you,

00:47:50 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 1:

I cannot believe how many listeners we have in Milford. That was amazing.

00:47:54 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I saw the pictures after because, of course, I wasn't there.

00:48:02 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 1:

I said to Brooke, I go, Brooke, what we should do is we should see if anybody will go out on the field and we'll take a picture together with Christopher and pretend like I'm his dad. It's Uncle Mojo hanging out with you today, Christopher. Hold on. Tony, don't feel so bad. Some people have had this happen to them. Julie?

00:48:23 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, hi, Bojo.

00:48:24 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 1:

Hey, say hello to our boss, Tony.

00:48:28 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Tony. You're such a great dad.

00:48:31 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, see that? She called you a great dad. What was the parent moment that you ended up missing?

00:48:38 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Well, my 16-year-old son was playing in this huge horseshoe tournament they have at the campground every year. and my sister invited me to go to a Tim McGraw concert. So how could I say no to that, right?

00:48:54 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, how could you?

00:48:55 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, my son ended up winning first place at this horseshoe tournament against all these other women. Oh, my God. Oh, I feel terrible. That mom guilt was... This monumous moment. Yeah.

00:49:11 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 1:

But how was Tim McGraw?

00:49:13 - 00:49:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, awesome, of course.

00:49:16 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 1:

thank you for the call i appreciate it hey jake what's up hey so uh i was just texting in and uh

00:49:26 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 4:

i actually almost missed the birth of two out of my four children because of taco bell

00:49:31 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 2:

i'm here for this come on jake what were you craving well so it was one of those situations

00:49:38 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 4:

where like you have a long labor and you're like oh i'm not leaving this room until the baby comes And then two days later, you never left the room. So you're like, okay, I've got time. The nurse swears up and down, like, oh, you've got time, plenty of time. And as soon as I leave the hospital, my wife is calling me up, like, hey, you need to get back here. The baby's coming.

00:49:55 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

No, buddy, that's like the worst thing ever. You didn't leave.

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 2:

learn your lesson the first time what's going on well so the first time it was it was our first two

00:50:05 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 3:

children that i happened with after that i you know i learned my lesson the second two i never

00:50:09 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 4:

left the room yeah but it also sounds like she has long labor until you leave i'd be kicking you

00:50:15 - 00:50:25 | Speaker 3:

that was actually the running joke with the last kid it was taking forever and she's like why don't you go get some tacos get out of here you know what's amazing though you're probably standing

00:50:25 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 2:

there or sitting in line right you're in the drive-thru and you're probably going there's only three ingredients how can they not put this thing together faster oh my gosh well and the

00:50:34 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 3:

second time and the one that really stuck it to home was that uh i was stuck in the drive-thru and i had one of those curbs where like you can't leave even if you wanted to you're trapped and i'm like 10 minutes away from the hospital and they're like i could see ahead i'm like oh

00:50:47 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 2:

my god did you eat the taco bell in the car on the way back or did you bring it in and eat it

00:50:51 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 3:

in the labor and delivery room yeah no the worst part is i didn't eat it until like two hours later So I did all that for cold, cold, cold, cold.

00:50:59 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 2:

Nothing wrong with cold Taco Bell.

00:51:01 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 3:

And she doesn't have anything.

00:51:02 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and she can't eat that. You wouldn't want her to eat that. Sonia, what's up? What did you miss of your kid?

00:51:08 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 4:

My daughter was selected to do the 500 relay at the swim meet, and she had never done it before, and she was really nervous and really excited. Yeah. And I was a swim mom who was setting up the meal for the dinner after the swim meet, and I ran out to set up for the swim meet dinner, and I came back. I missed everything, and she was in tears.

00:51:27 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man.

00:51:29 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 4:

I felt like the worst mom ever.

00:51:30 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 2:

But you're making the meals for the kids. I know. That was actually.

00:51:34 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 7:

But still, I get it.

00:51:35 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 2:

At least it wasn't going to a Tigers game, right? Rachel, what did you want to say to Tony?

00:51:41 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 4:

I thought that was evil. Oh, my God. I would have missed my kid's first birthday for game five.

00:51:49 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 2:

You're that big of a fan, huh?

00:51:52 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 4:

Not that bad at all.

00:51:54 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 2:

By the way, can I tell you, if they would have won, it would have been more epic, you know?

00:52:00 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, for sure, for sure.

00:52:01 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 2:

Tony, how was the drive home, calling and checking in with Brooke and making sure everything was okay at home?

00:52:07 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 5:

It was brutal. The grand slam that Cleveland hit still is haunting me.

00:52:14 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 7:

Happy birthday to your beautiful wife, by the way. Oh, is it her birthday today?

00:52:17 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, thank you, yeah. Happy birthday. You better remember.

00:52:20 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what are you doing today? You better not be missing that birthday.

00:52:24 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 5:

I got to figure that out. I got to make it up today. Would you get her? Got any idea?

00:52:30 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 2:

No, you got to do something big. You got to give her a day where she doesn't have to take the kids somewhere. That's right. Hold on, hold on. Albert wants to say hi to Tony. Albert, what's up? You're on with Tony Travato, our boss.

00:52:42 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Tony, how are you? What up, Albert? Hey, man, I just wanted to say that, you know, I love you. You're a sexual deviant, and I love you even more.

00:52:52 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 5:

Albert I'm not really that interesting

00:53:00 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 7:

Albert were you at the podcast Albert were you listening to the show on Friday

00:53:06 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 6:

I absolutely was and every time I hear Tony I'm like you sexual deviant guy

00:53:11 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 2:

that's the greatest alright buddy well we will talk to you Albert thanks for making it worse on Tony here today

00:53:21 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 6:

Love you all.

00:53:22 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 2:

Bye. All right. We'll see you. Bye, Tony.

00:53:24 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 6:

Bye, Tony. Low Jordan Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:53:29 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon, with What's Trending Right Now on the Dirty on the 30. Good morning, Shannon.

00:53:33 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. Well, that horrifying leg injury ended Aiden Hudson's game early as he rolled around on the field in absolute horrific pain in the third quarter of Detroit's beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys yesterday.

00:53:49 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 4:

Same how well they've done on second and third down.

00:53:53 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 1:

Aaron, just for a second, Hutchinson is hurt. Oh, boy. I mean, he's their best defensive player. This has been such a great day for the Lions. Hard to totally tell. Concern for Hutchinson, injury timeout. It's a heartbreaking scene here in Arlington, and we're not going to show you the replay because we saw it in the break. Trust me, you don't want to see it. Aiden Hutchinson's leg went a very funny way. And obviously major concern for him down on the field. And if you could read lips, sounds like he's saying he broke it. And it's just terrible.

00:54:31 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, they brought up the air cast. He did undergo immediate surgery at a hospital in Dallas for a broken tibia. With Coach Dan Campbell saying after the game he is getting the best care. But he'll be in Dallas for a while recovering. Now, the injury is considered season-ending, according to the NFL Network. However, a source close to Hutt telling the Detroit News late last night that the injury appears to be less severe than everybody's worst-case scenario thoughts. And he actually may be able to return.

00:55:00 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 3:

return maybe for the Super Bowl should the Lions make it.

00:55:03 - 00:55:07 | Speaker 4:

If you're a coach, do you even risk it by putting them back in or just wait until next season?

00:55:08 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 2:

I would probably say if he's ready to play, they're smarter than we are. They'll figure it out. But I'm telling you, we're going to talk this morning to an orthopedic doctor that's going to tell us. I have heard that this is not a comeback in just a couple of months type of a thing. I don't know. That's what I'm saying.

00:55:25 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 3:

Everybody, like the NFL Network's report is very different from the report that quote unquote a source close to the hut gave to the free to the Detroit

00:55:31 - 00:56:01 | Speaker 2:

news excuse me last night so the NFL report is that he's done for season ending right yeah yeah interesting I um man I I sent him all our well wishes the guy was having just an unbelievable season his rookie year was great I mean this guy is this guy's heart and soul is a lion and I would say this that if they do make it to the Super Bowl if you had to wheel him out there at midfield and let him play a play you know what I mean in a wheelchair for

00:56:01 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 5:

God's sakes you know like you put him out there but his impact is not only felt on the field but in that locker room and it was amazing to see the team still rally behind him because when an injury like that takes place it can take the soul out of the team yeah but to see them still stand tall and you see David Montgomery saying he's going to take this personal for Hutch so it could be a

00:56:21 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 2:

rallying point. Well, and Kevi brings up a really good point is that we all have been saying the Lions are great. God, I hope we don't have any injuries. An injury like this is detrimental obviously to this defense, but this could also be, like you said, the rallying point that a Lions team would need to take it to the next level. And nobody

00:56:39 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 4:

did anything wrong, right? No, it was a total accident. It's not like you got targeted. It almost reminds me of, who had the heart attack with the weird hit?

00:56:48 - 00:56:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Devin Hamlin, some of them?

00:56:51 - 00:56:56 | Speaker 4:

DeMar Hamlin. DeMar Hamlin. Yeah, it reminds me of that where you're like so upset, but it was just like an accident.

00:56:56 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Can I tell you, though, that I was at the, towards the end of that game, like the third quarter, at the end of third quarter and fourth quarter, I'm like, take these guys out of the game. Take them out of, like, when I saw Goff get sacked, I'm like, all right, enough already. We don't need them in there. Like, you get so worried sometimes that guys are going to get injured.

00:57:15 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 3:

The latest on the man arrested Saturday afternoon outside of Donald Trump's Coachella, California rally. He had a shotgun and a handgun in his possession, and at least one of those guns was loaded. The 49-year-old Las Vegas man also had a high-capacity magazine with him. His name is Vem Miller, had multiple driver's licenses, and was also in possession of multiple passports with different names. Here's the sheriff talking about this.

00:57:42 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 1:

He showed up with multiple passports with different names, an unregistered vehicle with fake license plate. If you're asking me right now, I probably did have deputies that prevented the third assassination attempt.

00:57:59 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, taken into custody for possessing the loaded firearm and for possessing the magazine with higher capacity than was legal in the state of California. Now, correct me if I'm wrong. So I read that he was released the same day on $5,000 bail.

00:58:11 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, how do you allow a guy that they've catched to be released on $5,000 bail? Okay, so that is correct information. Explain that to me.

00:58:17 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 3:

He's not scheduled to appear again until January 2nd. And he swears up and down that he did not want to hurt the former president. He said those accusations are complete BS. He said, I'm an artist. I'm the last person that would cause any violence and harm anybody. He said he actually told deputies that he was carrying the firearms in his trunk as a courtesy before he was pulled over, forced to leave the car. The car was ransacked after a deputy informed him that he wanted to make sure the guns were legal purchases.

00:58:49 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 2:

There's got to be something to them releasing this guy and allowing him to be released because in the prior cases, they're in no way that these guys are seeing the light of day after the attempted assassinations.

00:59:01 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 4:

If that's true, though, is the difference that he admitted to it and said, hey.

00:59:05 - 00:59:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't think, listen, you go there and you bring guns. You admit to it. I don't think that that should let you off. I don't know what the story is of why. I would think that you would, this is now federal. Like, I would think the feds would be like, no, you're not allowing this guy out of jail.

00:59:19 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what's the loophole here?

00:59:21 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

00:59:21 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

How did he figure it out? Nicole Kidman and Selma Hayek don't seem to like each other. Did you see this video? Okay, it looked like a real tense moment at the Balenciaga Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week. A video of the actresses posted online over the weekend, and it appears to show Nicole actually pushing away Selma Hayek's hand when they went to pose for photos with Katy Perry. Nicole then gave Katy a kiss, exchanged a few words with Selma before, like, very tensely walking away. I don't know what the heck they said to each other or where this bad blood is coming from, but it is up.

01:00:00 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 4:

parent. Check out that video to the Googles, as Kat said, if you haven't seen it yet. And something else. Have you seen the Stanley Cup craze at Target? The Wicked? Yes. The limited edition Wicked Stanley Cup. So this exclusive collab between Stanley and Wicked, it's only available at Target. And I mean, nobody's shocked here. It has sparked a frenzy among fans wanting to get their hands on these coveted tumblers. So you'll see videos all over TikTok of people like piling on each other to get one of these Stanley cups.

01:00:38 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 2:

They're cheap, man. They're like not even as good as Yetis. Crazy.

01:00:43 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 4:

They don't look like the tall Stanleys either. The ones I saw kind of like a smaller version of the more popular ones. I think there was two different sizes. Gotcha, okay.

01:00:52 - 01:01:16 | Speaker 3:

Did you see all the merch that they have for Wicked at Target because one of them released the Defying Gravity audio that they've been trying to hide. The way that they have dropped the ball on this musical, Barbie released the audio of one of the songs that they didn't have out yet. There's a wand that they have for this movie at Target that just revealed how Defying Gravity goes. I forgot what the other one was. No, so we saw the

01:01:16 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 4:

they look like disco ball like little cups with straws. Right.

01:01:20 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 3:

But there's like a full merch line out at Target right now for Wicked and all of it is mid. Can I be honest?

01:01:27 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 4:

I think Scott's something.

01:01:28 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 1:

I could care less. Yeah, but it's not your work. I know, I know. It's not for me. I know, I know, I know. I just had to say it. All I hope is that when I go and see the movie that somebody in front of me is not going, popular. I know it is.

01:01:41 - 01:01:41 | Unknown:

Shut up!

01:01:41 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 1:

You know there will be.

01:01:53 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 2:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. show uh megan wedding number 295 that you went to again this weekend a lot of weddings this year

01:02:02 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 3:

a lot of what i have another wedding this week so lots of weddings uh weddings six days apart um i uh had a really really good time at this wedding apart from the fact that i was absolutely exhausted the entire freaking time i was so dead i was so worn out and it's because I needed to be at the venue the day of the wedding at 9 a.m. for set up, right? So we went to their house the night before to organize everything for set up. We knew we had to be at the venue at 9 a.m. to set everything up and then get ready for the wedding and then do the party. So it was like 9 a.m. until midnight. Well, I decided to get a late night snack, which was a very poor decision, I realized, a couple of hours later when I got violently ill all night with food poisoning the night before the wedding. Oh, no. And I don't know what it is about big events, but I feel like every time there's something important to me happening, I get super sick. I was a kid who would always get strep on the day of the really cool field trip in school or whatever it was. But this night I was up literally. I would get up. I would get sick. I would go back to bed, force myself to sleep. You wake up like 40 minutes later. You're running to the bathroom. You're getting sick. You're trying like, please, dear God, let me go back to sleep. Please let me go back to sleep. and your alarm clock goes off and you realize you've gotten about three and a half hours worth of sleep but you feel absolutely fine in the morning why is it when that alarm clock goes off you're like oh no more barfing no more any of that which was like you said thank god but it was just pure exhaustion do you guys ever get like sick before a big moment

01:03:42 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 2:

I feel like it's all the time I always get the nervous stomach like the gurgles that happen and then I feel like I have to duty like every five seconds and then you have ghost duties where you just like you go there and you sit and you're like oh I guess I didn't have to go the worst is if if you're the bride but the worst is also if you're one of the people that stands up in the wedding because you'll be noticeably fidgety and but not only that like

01:04:14 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 4:

to Megan's point it's a long day there is a lot required of you it's not like you can be a normal guest and just like sit at your table and leave after an hour and go home and get cozy and feel better that's not going to be your kind of day what would you have done if you still had it the

01:04:29 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 3:

next day and you like would you have carried a bag with me and try to be discreet about it so it was

01:04:35 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 2:

it was coming out the it was coming out the top not the bottom yeah oh god puking all that's

01:04:40 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 3:

noticeable but when you wake up and you have that feeling you're like a couple of things first of i'm tired second of all this sucks third of all please make it to the bathroom fourth of all like you ever you start running like you wake up and that adrenaline is pumping that's what it was

01:04:56 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

like y'all know how i am green t-shirts that is not a

01:05:00 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 6:

drink of choice for me and my body responds like megan's does where i throw up and i had a pistons game on a sunday we when we have games on sundays are typically early so i have to be at the arena like noon and saturday i think was one of those first days i had it i had one of those moments and boy i was in the bathroom before the game throwing up i think i went after the first quarter and i'm like man please don't think i'm hung over like it's just i had one shot I'm just sitting there like, God, please let me make it through this.

01:05:30 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 7:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who got sick on what was a big day for you and what was the big day? Like, what did you have? It could be anything. I mean, obviously it could be a wedding. It could be a job interview, whatever it is.

01:05:44 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 2:

The worst is when you are traveling and you are like, you know, it's coming and you have, you know, flights and hotels and other people that are part of your travel plans. And then, I mean, it happened to me like a year or two ago when I took Lucy on her annual New York City trip. I was so damn sick. I mean, but I had to rally because I look forward to it all year. She looks forward to it all year. But man, oh man, if we weren't in bed, I told her at like 7, 8 o'clock every single night. I'm like, okay, like turn on whatever you want to turn on.

01:06:19 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 7:

Knock on wood, I've never had a duty in one of the airport. Or the plane bathroom. Ever? Ever. I don't think I could. I don't think I have. I don't know how I'd wipe. I'm a big man.

01:06:30 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 2:

You guys, speaking of wipes, wait, I have something to give you. You mean on the plane?

01:06:34 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 7:

While we're, okay. On the plane or like still? On a plane. In the airport. I've done a lot. Oh, airport's fine.

01:06:39 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 2:

On the plane. Heck no. You guys, Target special yesterday. I know how much you love your dude wipes. They have Dumpkin Spice. Oh, my God. Dude wipes. What a name. I bought one for you, one for Zach.

01:06:52 - 01:06:55 | Speaker 7:

Thank you. Do they smell like a... I don't know. Oh, here, ready? One, two.

01:06:56 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 2:

Dumpkin spice. There you go. Take them with you when you travel.

01:06:59 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 6:

Please call that.

01:07:00 - 01:07:01 | Unknown:

Please call that. Zach.

01:07:01 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 7:

What if it makes you spicy? My butt is going to smell like a pumpkin spice latte.

01:07:05 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Like Halloween. But it doesn't smell like pumpkin. It smells like the spices. Cinnamon. Yeah. Dumpkin spice. You're right. I don't want to hear that. Sucked me right in. No. All right. All right.

01:07:15 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 7:

I'll let you know. Thank you, Shannon. That was very nice. Look at the picture. Megan, this is for your next wedding that you have. If you get sick, I'll give you some of my dumpkins. Marcy, what's up? Hi. Getting sick on the big day.

01:07:28 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 1:

I just wanted to say that I've had laryngitis before, I'm sorry to say, both my weddings. I get married with laryngitis. I've had laryngitis. I get it right before a job interview, so I interview with laryngitis.

01:07:40 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 7:

So you get nervous beforehand. Wait, before both of your weddings, you lost your voice. Maybe somebody was telling you something.

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I know.

01:07:49 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 7:

You couldn't say I do. What's up, Jackie?

01:07:54 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Hello. I got COVID when I had to drive my best friend's dress and centerpieces down to her destination wedding in Florida.

01:08:06 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no.

01:08:06 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

01:08:08 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 7:

And they needed that stuff.

01:08:09 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And so I literally got there, took a COVID test within the first like three hours of being there, tested positive. and so I could not go to my best friend's wedding and then she was marrying one of my childhood best friend's brothers. So the first wedding I knew everybody there and I couldn't go.

01:08:29 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that sucks. But you at least got that stuff there. You were a hero for bringing that stuff to her.

01:08:33 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 3:

I got all the stuff there, yes.

01:08:35 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 7:

That was good. You're a good friend. What's up, Kristen? Hi.

01:08:38 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:08:39 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 7:

Hi. Megan got sick before the big wedding this weekend and you got sick too?

01:08:45 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 5:

It actually wasn't before a wedding. It's literally been on every family vacation.

01:08:49 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 7:

You get sick before every family vacation?

01:08:53 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 5:

No, like on the vacation. During the vacation in Florida, strep throat, Vegas, extremely bad pneumonia, California, COVID. Oh, my gosh. This past August, bronchitis in California again. Stop traveling.

01:09:09 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 7:

You got nothing coming up, do you?

01:09:12 - 01:09:13 | Unknown:

I do.

01:09:14 - 01:09:16 | Speaker 7:

You need to take your vitamin C.

01:09:16 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that's it.

01:09:18 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 7:

There must be something to, they say stress is the cause of a lot of times people's immune system getting weakened. Maybe you get stressed before these big things. Hold on. What happened, Kendra?

01:09:31 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:09:32 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:09:34 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:09:34 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 7:

We're talking about getting sick before the big day or big happenings. What was the thing that you got sick before?

01:09:39 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

so i had just gotten a new job and my company did a very formal like christmas ball party and my husband decided to get sick off of the food there like five minutes after getting there and was in the bathroom the entire night oh god i like how you said

01:09:59 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 7:

deceit.

01:10:00 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 1:

he decided to get sick like it was his choice i think he can decide to get sick at certain times

01:10:05 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 3:

i really think he can i want to know what else you guys poor guy katie this is a sad one and a tough one you got sick just before your husband was deployed yeah so he was like still in the

01:10:21 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 1:

country and i had a flight to go out and see him we were actually going to go to the grand canyon and spend a couple of days together. And my son was sick and we didn't know what was going on. And then the night before my flight, I got so sick. I like slept on the bathroom floor, couldn't get up, had to reschedule my flight. I did make it there, but only for like three days. And then our son, it ended up being appendicitis. So he went into emergency surgery. It was, it was crazy.

01:10:51 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God. That's well, thank you for your husband's service and for your service. doing that. That stinks, though, right before he's getting ready to leave. Texter says can't go on the air with you guys. I'm a bride who had to get off the altar to go diarrhea.

01:11:05 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god. The day you dream about. And you're wearing white bridesmaids. It's happening.

01:11:13 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 3:

If it's a church wedding, you go to an organist and you say play a long song or something like that. Mojo in the morning, your home of the War of the Roses second date update and the Dirty on the 30. Uh, Shannon, what's going on?

01:11:27 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 2:

So, um, Lucy and I have this thing that we started doing, which by the way, especially if you have a tween in your house, I feel like this is a really great idea. But, um, I bought like a, a mom daughter journal on Amazon and it's become kind of like our bedtime tradition over the past couple of months where it's the one that we bought is really cool where we fill it out together, but she fills out a page and then I fill out the next page and there are all these prompts in it. so you can kind of like learn more about your your daughter or she lucy can learn a little bit more about me and i can kind of gauge what's going on in her heart in her head and it's everything from like your favorite food to tell me about your favorite childhood vacation who are your best friends what was your best memory of your dad and fill them out together yeah so i sit in bed with her and instead of just like she's not my reader so she doesn't really ever sit in bed and read or anything and I don't let her have like her iPad in her room so I like to sit at the end of the day and kind of like download the day and then this is an activity that we do and it's been really enlightening and very meaningful to both of us well I realized the other day that she had skipped ahead and filled out a few pages without me which sometimes I'll have her do if I have to go and like get Smith down and get him settled to sleep and then I'll come back in and Lucy and I we'll finish so she had gone ahead in the book and um and this was like after I had put her to sleep and so I went back to like read through what we had written for the night and I noticed these extra pages and one of the questions on the page that she had filled out without me was if you could change anything about your life what would it be and her answer was like a punch in the stomach her answer was i wish my parents never got a divorce and she drew a little crying face next to it i was crushed like just tears because like to you kind of know that your child is thinking that or has thought that you know in several points along in their childhood or whatever since it happened but to actually see her write it out with that little crying face was just like

01:13:43 - 01:13:49 | Speaker 3:

you know man that was so hard so you read that after she had written it or because that because

01:13:49 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

it was yeah so she so normally we do all of it together like as we're sitting there and um but like i said that particular night i had gone smith was like yeah you know calling for me and calling for me so i was like okay you go ahead and finish this page i'm gonna go get smith down and then i'll come back in and then by that time like it was time for her to go to bed so i'll close the book i brought it downstairs with me and then i was just like flipping through i should i always show wes like you know like what we talked about or whatever and then i like saw because it was written in pink pen so i could see it like through the other pages and i'm like wait what she went

01:14:20 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 3:

ahead and that's what she wrote wow so when you read this do you go back and then and talk to her

01:14:25 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

about it or have you gone and talked to her about it so that was last week and i did bring it up to her um and she was pretty quiet about it um I just said help you know you tell mama what you're feeling like what's on your heart and she because I I always try to you guys know this about me and it's kind of I feel like it's a it's a great attribute that I have but it's also very much a flaw that I try to flip everything to the positive or see the silver lining and so I said to her because you know now you have so many more people that love you you have Mr. Wes and you have a stepmom and you have step siblings and she's just like, yeah.

01:15:00 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I just feel like it would be easier.

01:15:03 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 1:

I can relate to this. Growing up, my mom's a single mom. My dad had left our family, and it was really hard for me to understand the reason behind all of it. But now as an adult, my relationship with my mom is so different, and I understand it differently. So you just being here and even having that journal and letting her get that out now is going to help her so that when she's older, she can have a closer relationship and fully understand why, and maybe even accept it. That's what ended up happening to me.

01:15:36 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 3:

Do you, as a grown woman right now, ever think of how you wished your parents were, you know, you wish things were different and the family would have not gone through that?

01:15:46 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. I mean, it was devastating. I mean, my mom was a single mom. She was pregnant. She, you know, we had to sell our home. We had so many things happening at once, and I kind of disassociated from it. But now as an adult looking back in with therapy, I can thank her and appreciate what she did to help our family.

01:16:07 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You brought up something interesting, Shannon, that, you know, it's funny. As time goes on, you go, oh, well, that, you know, it's always good to look at the bright side of things. You said that you've always been the look at the bright side. But sometimes not looking at the bright side is, you know, always something that is needed, right? I mean.

01:16:24 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 5:

For sure. And I think that's why like it hit me as hard as it hit me when I read it, because she was like, she's a pretty positive kid. And like, you, you, you know that it like, but like that it bugs her or bugs her might be the wrong word.

01:16:42 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 3:

You feel like you're discounting her feelings when you say, well, yeah, but you have all this stuff, right?

01:16:46 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 5:

For sure. Yeah. But just, it was just like so blatant in my face to read it was, was really, really like honestly one of the hardest moments of my whole entire life.

01:16:57 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 4:

How old was she when y'all got divorced?

01:17:00 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 5:

We told her she was kindergarten? Five?

01:17:05 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 4:

Has it come up multiple times before this at all?

01:17:09 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 5:

Not really. No.

01:17:11 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 3:

You know what's amazing is, first off, thank you for sharing this. I think that it's great that you're able to share this with the listeners. I'm being very

01:17:21 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 5:

right now because i've been a big mess about this like every time i think about it i get this huge frog in my throat because it's it's like your baby and you feel like you failed as a parent

01:17:29 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 2:

you know it's it's just yeah well i think failing is keeping a child in a situation that is traumatic and filled with not love well that way and that was your situation megan yeah no absolutely i'm so grateful for my parents divorce it's not even funny i don't know if i felt that way my entire life because i think the shock of change is always difficult so like change of i was very grateful in the fact that i got to stay in the home that i was raised in my dad kept my similar to kp my dad was a single father when they split up but i got to stay in the home um that was comfortable and was safe um so that to me was like a big guiding kind of compass of like stability um but after i was a little bit older i was so grateful that my dad had put up with something that was so terrible for so long to make sure that i kept that stability and there's a lot of appreciation and knowledge that comes with age and time and understanding and i don't think and i

01:18:30 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 3:

think in in all the cases i mean kp talking about her family uh you talk about yours and then of course shannon's you know every situation is completely different there's not no but i i will say this the thing i respect the most out of you and obviously uh lucy's dad is that uh both of you guys you know have worked on yourselves like i think that's huge yeah and i think that both and you guys have both ended up you know finding you know unbelievable people to be in your lives now yeah i think it's awesome that you and this is something if you take away anything from this take away the moments that you're spending with her to give her the opportunity to do this because there are so many people that are older that never ever get to talk to their parents about the things that hurt them so much when they're younger and for her to be able to say to write this on paper to feel safe enough and then for you to read it and then for eventually if it comes up where you guys work through it together or have the conversation you gave her the opportunity to actually feel heard you know that's a pretty cool thing which as an adult now looking back because

01:19:40 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 5:

my parents got divorced when i was in kindergarten too and i've like there are so many questions and conversations that still as a 41 year old woman i would want to have but i and like i love my mom and dad but i they we weren't we're not a family of talkers yeah if that makes sense so like there was never that sort of space to be.

01:20:00 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 1:

able to like express I don't think the times were like feelings yeah I think I think even now like there's so much I want to ask and say and I'm like I would feel so weird doing that now but

01:20:12 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 2:

you know what's funny is that one day maybe this will be a catalyst for you that Lucy's therapy

01:20:17 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 4:

will might be your therapy yeah what's up Ryan hi I just wanted to say that I got divorced when My son was two years old, and he is turning 10 next month and just asked to go to therapy because that is one of the things that he still wishes that his dad and I were together. Despite us taking vacations together, he still wishes that we were together. So I feel you so much.

01:20:40 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's cool, isn't it, that he wants to seek therapy instead of pushing it down and not wanting to talk about it. And that's great that you're open and willing.

01:20:52 - 01:21:13 | Speaker 4:

We're not talkers, right? So, like, I'm so happy that he was able to come to me and say that he wanted this, despite it crushing my heart. I don't, you know, I'm divorced. That's fine. We've accepted it. But I, and I, he was two. He has no idea that we were together. And yet he still wishes that we were together. So I just feel you.

01:21:13 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 2:

That's cool. Thank you for calling and telling us that. Olivia, hi.

01:21:17 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Good morning. Good morning. um so my daughter's dad um committed suicide a year ago um she's eight years old now she has no idea how he passed um i'm in a loving relationship with my fiance and she loves him they absolutely are father and daughter um but i picked her up from school yesterday and she gets in the car and I always ask her how her day went and she said well I cried a little and I said well honey why's that and she said well no one asked me where my dad was and I told him that he died and Chris my fiance replaced him and my heart just dropped um she i said well honey he's never gonna replace your dad honey he is still here with us he's in our hearts he's watching over us but it just broke my heart to hear you know that she thinks her own dad's being replaced by somebody else yeah the things kids think about are just you know they're not they're little but they're not dumb you know they're aware and did you did you shannon when

01:22:39 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 2:

your parents were going through doors ever think that put it on you that you thought you were a reason why or no so it never became that i mean not that i remember no no i really don't what

01:22:50 - 01:23:05 | Speaker 1:

could have been yeah and it's again it's one of those things where like i just to see it like to olivia's point you you know that they it's probably crossed their mind and it's on their heart but to actually hear them say it out loud or in my case write it down and you're reading it

01:23:05 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 2:

it's just it's yeah it's so hard uh what's going on renee hi it's mojo in the morning show

01:23:12 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 3:

hi good morning good morning good morning um first time long time hey there all right

01:23:20 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 2:

like we had with that war of the roses it always feels weird to do the first time long time in a serious topic but we need it almost for levity yeah yeah now's my chance gotta say it um i just

01:23:32 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 3:

wanted to say to shannon um i was a younger kid when my parents got divorced and it was really messy and it um ended horribly and we all as the kids um witnessed that but i am 24 now and you know dating seriously and um it has shown me the best example my mom showed me that um if you're in a relationship that isn't going well or a loveless relationship that it's okay to leave no matter what you have attached to that person um for yourself and the sake of the people around you um and that has been very important for me uh in this point in my life so as a grown woman

01:24:22 - 01:24:30 | Speaker 2:

it actually gave you the ability to be able to kind of work your relationship yeah it taught me

01:24:30 - 01:24:43 | Speaker 3:

that you know i've lived with two different people and ended things when things went bad and i felt comfortable and confident that i was making the right decision and was able to um leave with

01:24:43 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 2:

whatever attachments i had um because i saw my mom do it interesting yeah well listeners are asking questions shannon and one of the questions that they're asking is can you share the journal

01:24:56 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

oh you know what i'll post it to my instagram story okay

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 3:

I thought you meant, like, her entries. Oh, God, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'll post a picture of, like, which one I ordered from Amazon. I was like, wow, people, nosy.

01:25:11 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning. You want to make a comment on what Shannon brought up this morning and talking about, you know, dealing with divorce in a family? You can, and you can send her messages, too. You can go and do that through text at 95500 or, of course, DMs on our Instagram and Facebook.

01:25:29 - 01:25:29 | Unknown:

Let's go.

01:25:30 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning show. It's another week of crazy stuff here. Second date update is coming up here in just a little bit. Remember, tomorrow wore the roses. And then, of course, later this week, five lies to tell your mom, throwback throwdown. We got a bunch of stuff coming up this hour on the show, including Jingle Ball tickets, and then we'll have an opportunity for you to win cash. Right now, we got to give away that opportunity for a trip to Florida because I'm running late on it with the last topic running long. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. 95th caller, Lydia, is going to win a $50 cash card and then qualify for a trip to Orlando, Florida from Visit Florida. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, 95th caller. Go through those lines. Here are some of the topics that we're going to get into next. The craziest thing that caused a fist fight, Kev peed himself at the haunted house, and Megan, I cried at boot barn, all coming up here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Plus, like I said, the second date update will be happening. We'll do that coming up here in just a little bit. I actually have, I think, a doc to give us some answers on the Aiden Hutchinson story and the break that he went through and what's the recovery time on something like that. Hopefully for the 830 dirty, we'll have that coming up. Okay? Okay, so that will be good that Channing can do that story, and then we can get some details on what we think if Aiden Hutchinson's going to be able to come back.

01:27:16 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 3:

Could be back for the Super Bowl should the Lions make it. That's my biggest question. Because there's two totally different stories that we're getting from different sources.

01:27:26 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's interesting. When I saw that break, all I kept thinking about was Alex Smith, the guy that quarterback he played was playing at the time i think for uh the 49ers when he broke his leg and you remember that well i remember watching that that game and it was like one of the honestly most uh disgusting things that i have ever in my life witnessed and i'm like i'm literally watching this guy's leg go in in different directions it was awful remember get

01:27:58 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 1:

Gorda Hayward.

01:27:59 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that was a bad one, too.

01:28:01 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, some gruesome injuries out here.

01:28:03 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was a horrible one, too. And then the most infamous one was way back when, way before Kevin was even a seedling, probably, in his daddy's testicles. Joe Theismann. Is that the blindside clip? No, Joe. I don't know if it. No.

01:28:21 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 3:

Blindside starts with a clip of a play where a dude breaks his eyes. I think that is it.

01:28:25 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

01:28:25 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

Is that Joe Theismann? It is.

01:28:27 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 1:

It is.

01:28:28 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you were. By the way, see that?

01:28:32 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 1:

That was really nice to hear.

01:28:34 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 2:

That's called historical, knowing historical moments through the eyes of a movie. That's the way that I've learned my history.

01:28:42 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 3:

If it works, it works. Do you know why I know the president's in order? Hamilton the Musical.

01:28:45 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Mojo in the morning. Who's this? Hello? It's Nick. Hey, it's Nick. Nick is a winner! Nick, you want to go to Orlando, Florida?

01:29:00 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah.

01:29:01 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 2:

Our hearts and thoughts and prayers and all the lovey stuff for our friends down in Florida, by the way. They're picking up the pieces from what was now two hurricanes, but they're going to get back, and they're going to be stronger than ever, and they're going to be beautiful during the winter, and you've got an opportunity to win a trip to Orlando. Congratulations.

01:29:21 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

All right. Thank you.

01:29:22 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 2:

If you win this trip, visit Florida. We'll set you up with some nice stuff, including a stay airfare for you and a friend. Stay at the Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa, just minutes away from Orlando's renowned theme parks. Also, you will get a tour through the Central Florida Everglades on an airboat at Bogey Creek Airboat Adventures. I fly Orlando, the closest thing to skydiving without having to get up in an airplane. and a whole bunch of other cool stuff from Visit Florida if you win this on Friday morning, okay? That's great. Appreciate you, buddy, for listening. Thanks so much. much thank you thank you hang on the phone for a second a 50 cash card is yours i have to tell you guys a uh funny uh actually not funny i feel bad for the guy joe joe's uh joe's on the 13th floor of a building that he lives in an apartment complex apartment building in uh in tampa on the

01:30:18 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 1:

bay and still has no elevator service no no no no see that's i would get a hotel room so joe and

01:30:25 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 2:

And his water just got turned off. So literally, if we think that things are better, they're not better in Florida. But he's got no water service. He's had spotty, I guess, power. So there's no air conditioning. He's got all this stuff. And I think he's run out of funds to be able to go stay in a hotel. So he's now walking up and downstairs. So he had to bring groceries up because all their groceries were gone, right? They all had to be thrown away because the hurricane was last Wednesday and they didn't have power until just like yesterday. or whatever uh so they had to throw all their garbage out in the garbage dump uh shoot then they had to go to the grocery store which Publix he says was amazing those people were great they were like discounting everything he's like he's like they get it they know how to treat people but then he had to carry his bags 13 flights of stairs I said to him I go at that point I would probably pack it in and call it a day I don't know if I can deal with it when we talked to him last

01:31:23 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 1:

This week before the hurricane hit, he was worried about a crane because they were like doing construction or something on his building and he was worried about a crane crushing his apartment.

01:31:31 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 2:

So it didn't. You might have seen, by the way, this crane that went through a building. It was in St. Pete. Joe is just inside St. Pete, but not in the same area. So it did not. No. So thank God the crane did not come through his window.

01:31:46 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:31:46 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

Which was good.

01:31:47 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 1:

So this might be dumb.

01:31:48 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:31:49 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 1:

We couldn't move those cranes anywhere else.

01:31:50 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 2:

No, because the hurricane, you had, what, five days or six days notice that the hurricane was coming that way? Right. You can't just move a crane. It's a big crane. It takes months to move cranes in and out of places. These are cranes that literally, yeah.

01:32:07 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 1:

Put it out in the field? I didn't know.

01:32:08 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was drivable. It's not moving. Do you have five days? It's stuck in the ground. It's stuck and hanging. You just got to hope that the thing is. Those are movable. Yeah, I don't think so. I agree. Well, thank goodness. I think, let's just put it this way. Didn't crash his apartment. Even if you moved it, where are you moving it to? We're not putting in some guy's backyard. Put it in the ocean. What field? It's going to drive down the highway on a field. Just put it in the ocean. Let's put it in. Let's just dump it right in the water.

01:32:33 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 1:

Knock it over. Just push it over.

01:32:35 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 2:

Let's leave it by the apartment. Yeah. All right. Mojo in the morning show. I went out and drank way too heavily on Friday. It was one of those. Did you really? Oh, it was bad. Why? Yeah, it was crazy. We had fun. It was a good day. It was like one of our last 70-degree days. It was nice weather.

01:32:53 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so you weren't like celebrating anything?

01:32:55 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 2:

No, I drank. I drank drinking or golfing. And then after I got done golfing, got invited over to my friend's bar garage. The guy has a garage that has a full bar in it. And I'm like, I'm talking to you guys. It's honestly crazy. Is it like his man cave, Cunder? it's kind of his man cave let me see if I have a video or picture of it I think I took I took a video let me see if there's anything here just so you guys can see it so this is what his garage looks like alright so he's got let's see now all you see is a crazy drunk Asian guy dancing behind me it's cool let's just put it this way trust me it's really cool you walk into it it's got a big old bar and sign and everything like that and he's got his, you know, cars pulled out of it. He's got, it looks really nice. After we get done drinking and we're drinking heavily and he's like pouring crazy shots and the guys were drinking, the girls were not drinking. So the girls were the designated drivers. We get done drinking that night. We're walking out of his house to say goodbye. And as we're saying goodbye, have you guys ever in your life ever witnessed a fist fight between two people?

01:34:12 - 01:34:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh yeah. You have? Oh yeah.

01:34:14 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 2:

Did you ever want to know what started the fist fight?

01:34:17 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, of course.

01:34:18 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and did you ever ask what started this fist fight only to go, are you kidding me? That's what almost started the fist fight? Yes. Because usually it's just two drunk guys. You want to know what almost started a fist fight? And I'm only going to share this with you if you call us up and tell us what's the dumbest thing that started a fist fight. Okay? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. so we're walking out of the place and the guy who's throwing the party I'll keep guys nameless on this one the guy who's throwing the party saying goodbye and the other guy that was there that was drunk says to the guy throwing the party you got ugly arborvitaes

01:35:00 - 01:35:04 | Speaker 6:

You are joking me No

01:35:04 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 5:

He basically said that your arborvites Are ugly or something like that

01:35:09 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 2:

Listen they're a plant They're a bush As a former homeowner I really cared about what people thought About how my house was presented Don't insult my home

01:35:20 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 5:

That's by the way That's how a fight gets started in Oakland County

01:35:25 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 2:

I think this is super valid I get it

01:35:29 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 5:

There is no way.

01:35:31 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 1:

That man was already on the edge. And that just sent him over. Don't talk about my plants.

01:35:37 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 5:

He insulted his arborvitaes. And how dare you insult my... That's like insulting my wife. Matter of fact, you can insult my wife. Don't insult my arborvitaes. Arborvitaes. I take care of them myself. Be honest. Were they jacked up? By the way, I was drunk. But I had stopped way before that. Let me show you how drunk people are.

01:35:57 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Honestly, though, I give props to this guy that he knew Arborvitaes and said it drunk. How were they?

01:36:05 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 5:

I mean, how were the Arborvitaes? I'll be honest with you.

01:36:07 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 6:

Did he chop off the top of them to make them flat all the way across?

01:36:09 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 5:

No, I was so impressed, Shannon, with the bar. I didn't even look at the Arborvitaes.

01:36:13 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 6:

Well, you still haven't sent us pictures of the bar.

01:36:15 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 5:

No, this is. So I'll send you guys this.

01:36:17 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 6:

Say it how he said it, though. Arborvitaes. He said it crystal clear.

01:36:22 - 01:36:34 | Speaker 5:

Actually, I'm going to send you guys a video. This is a video of the dancing agent. That's Mojo's screaming. That's Mojo's noise.

01:36:38 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 1:

What is that, a burrito in his hands? This is in the garage?

01:36:44 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 5:

That was in the garage. It looked like a legit bar. Isn't that unbelievable?

01:36:48 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 6:

You guys are excellent, 21-year-old girls. We were. Dancing, but the dance is just that knee bounce. And the tongue is out.

01:36:55 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 5:

Now, here's the... I want to see more. I want to see the Arbor. Here's the greatest.

01:36:59 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I want to see the Arbor.

01:37:00 - 01:37:03 | Speaker 5:

I sent the video to Misfit Victor, and Victor put this in there.

01:37:03 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 1:

October 11th, October 12th, and 13th, and 14th, I was intoxicated. I drank all of those days. I drank.

01:37:13 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 5:

Did you remember that movie?

01:37:15 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 6:

Is that guy in a Halloween costume, or is that the shirt he was actually? No, that's the shirt. He's going to fight you, dude.

01:37:20 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 5:

That's Mooner, by the way. Mooner is the team videographer for his son's hockey team. I've never said Arborvitae before. Isn't that great? Alex, what caused the fight?

01:37:38 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 3:

So my husband and the best man got in a fist fight at our wedding in June because the best man told my husband to shut the F up.

01:37:46 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, shut the F up. Why did he tell him to shut the F up?

01:37:52 - 01:37:57 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea. There was just a lot of alcohol involved. A lot of alcohol.

01:37:58 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 5:

But I see, shut the F up would cause me to get in more of a fight than you have ugly Arborvitae's. Don't you dare tell me how, shut up. What's up, Jay? How you doing?

01:38:09 - 01:38:11 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how you doing? How are you? Good.

01:38:12 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 5:

What's the craziest reason why a fist fight broke out?

01:38:15 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 4:

So it actually involved me, but I used to go to, I used to live in Fort Wayne and I I had a buddy, Lex, who we would go to Peanuts or Wrigley's. I can't remember which one it was, and we'd drink a lot. Well, the one day, I thought he passed out in the bathroom, but he wasn't coming out for a while. And we had a whole group of us hanging out there. And so, I thought he passed out in there, and we were trashed. So, I kicked in the stall door in the bathroom. Lex, are you okay, homie? Yeah, he was good. Needless to say, the bouncers kicked us out, and we got to do a fight. I got to do a fight with them.

01:38:42 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 5:

Do you ever notice that when bouncers kick you out, they know the fight's about to begin inside the bar? Yeah. They don't mind if the fight is in the parking lot, though. They don't care if the fight's in the parking lot.

01:38:56 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 4:

All right, there you go.

01:38:58 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 5:

As long as you guys don't break glasses or break things around the bar, they'll let you hit cars and all the rest of that stuff. Sending you on your way.

01:39:08 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 4:

They don't mind. They love it.

01:39:10 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 5:

Appreciate you. By the way, question for you. How are your arborvities?

01:39:15 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 4:

How are what? Exactly.

01:39:17 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 5:

thank you um i i gotta be quite honest with you i don't know if i even recognized that the guy had plants i was that drunk on friday michelle what's up hey guys good morning um just sharing

01:39:32 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

a story i have worked in a restaurant years ago and had two co-workers and one had kept snacks and kind of a community area but like in a locker type space and another co-worker had taken it it was around easter it was one of those snickers that are in the shape of an egg and uh he approached him and it got verbally aggressive and then the one guy threw a quarter at him and said here here's for your snickers

01:40:00 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 3:

egg and then they started brawling. I would fight

01:40:04 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 1:

over a Snickers egg because they're better than the regular Snickers. They've got more insides in them.

01:40:10 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 3:

They are delicious.

01:40:11 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 1:

They are. Irony. What is the Snickers? That's the irony. Isn't it supposed to be that? It's not you when you're hungry. A Snickers gets rid of the anger. Lauren, what's up? Angry.

01:40:24 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 3:

First time long time.

01:40:28 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

01:40:30 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, set the scene at St. Patrick's Day. We're all drinking and bar hopping. And the one guy that's with us is just taking forever to finish his drink. So he says, you know, we'll leave after this drink, but it's just never going down. My husband grabs the drink and slams it and was like, all right, we can leave. He grabs another drink from the bar and throws it in my husband's face. They end up wrestling around. He breaks his leg. No way. he ended up having surgery and everything from a broken ankle you are drunk at a tissue level

01:41:02 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 1:

i think so i don't think yeah i think you have to like live they can't even give you pain meds because you had so much alcohol in you lisa what's up hey what's up hey we're talking about

01:41:16 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 2:

the craziest reason you know what we're talking about go ahead um yeah so i work at a restaurant And this was a busy night, real busy. There was tons of food in the window, and everybody was taking out their food to the table. And this one guy took the wrong food out to the other table, went and chased him out into the table, literally started a fight with him, started punching each other. I'm like, are you guys kidding me? This is food. Like, we can just remake it. It was horrible. I mean, we had to close down for an hour. People were just like a mess.

01:41:53 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 1:

Over the wrong food being eaten. There had to be more to some of the stories. Like you guys said, like there has to be something that pushes it to the next level. Because you just don't think that somebody just getting the wrong food would make you go and just punch somebody. But now this would make me fight. Lincoln?

01:42:11 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:42:12 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Lincoln. We're talking about what caused the fist fight.

01:42:16 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. My dad's like a super mature dude. I've never seen him upset. But he loves his dog. and some dude just said his dog had a stupid smile and I've never seen him get so upset.

01:42:30 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Wait, that's bad. Honestly, I'd be so mad.

01:42:33 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 1:

Was it a complete stranger or was it

01:42:35 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 4:

just some guy? No, it was my dad's buddy that he works with. My dad's a logger up in northern Michigan and he was one of my dad's employees.

01:42:43 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 1:

So he said your dog has a stupid smile and your dad beat his ass?

01:42:48 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 4:

No, they didn't get in a fight. He was the closest I've ever seen punching a dude but I was told that he did get up in his face.

01:42:58 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 3:

That's the correct response.

01:43:00 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what did he say to him? He was just pissed. He's like, don't talk about my dog. I don't remember. That's how Lydia is with Pablo.

01:43:09 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 3:

If you tell her that her dog looks kind of dumb, she will go off. I love Pablo. Thanks.

01:43:18 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning.

01:43:19 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update A mojo in the morning.

01:43:22 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 1:

Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out right now. Steven's getting ghosted. Steven, how you doing?

01:43:30 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, doing okay, I guess.

01:43:32 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. So how long has it been since you guys talked?

01:43:36 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 4:

Four days.

01:43:37 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so that's not horrible. I mean, we've had worse than that.

01:43:41 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 2:

But if you had a good date, four days is eternity.

01:43:45 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we were talking every day.

01:43:48 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 1:

Really? You know what? That is actually bad. Like, you know, you guys, have you guys had these where you meet somebody and you just end up talking to them so much? It becomes like a, I can't even, you know, not be around them. I think most relationships turn into that. And then when you go four days with hearing nothing from them, like not even a call back, right?

01:44:12 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, radio silence.

01:44:14 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to find out what's going on. On the phone with us is Andy. Andy, will you say hello to Steven?

01:44:23 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, sure.

01:44:25 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 1:

He's on the phone. He can hear you right now. Say hello.

01:44:29 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hello, Steven.

01:44:33 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 4:

Hey.

01:44:36 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's not as warm. Are you guys sure you were talking nonstop with each other before this? Steven?

01:44:46 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I was listening, mostly.

01:44:50 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on. So she was doing the talking. What's going on, Andy? Is everything okay?

01:44:57 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm fine.

01:45:00 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 2:

Did you First off What did you guys do the last time That you guys were with each other Were you guys together And did you guys go out

01:45:07 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah We Walked around And then we had some pizza

01:45:16 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay So that way Was that like a date That you guys went on You guys chose to just go Walking around And having pizza Andy

01:45:23 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah Well I thought it was a nice time

01:45:26 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 4:

I mean And he, it just wasn't really like a very like sought out. He sent me an address that like wasn't to any like particular location, but it was really close to like this nicer restaurant. So I thought we were going there. And so like I dressed up and had like heels on and a skirt. And then he showed up late and we just like walked around downtown.

01:45:58 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so he gave you just an address to meet. You're thinking, okay, there's a restaurant there. When you guys finally got together, first off, why were you late, Steven?

01:46:10 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my battery died in my car.

01:46:14 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so he showed up late. Did he call you at least, Andy, and say, I'm going to be running a little late? No. You didn't call. Okay.

01:46:25 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 3:

I was rushing. Yeah, I was frazzled.

01:46:27 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 2:

So when he finally showed up, were you in the restaurant or were you just still waiting in your car waiting for him?

01:46:35 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 4:

I was just waiting in my car.

01:46:37 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay. He finally shows up. You get out of your car. You guys see each other and he doesn't take you into the restaurant. Where did he take you?

01:46:48 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 4:

We just like walked around. and I just which that would have been fine if I like had been prepared for that I didn't know that that's what we were doing and I just feel like he also didn't take the hint that I'm dressed nice and he has me walking around for a while in my high heels that is kind of

01:47:13 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 2:

an interesting date Stephen you you said to her hey we're gonna meet here but you didn't say what

01:47:19 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 3:

you guys were going to do yeah i want it to be a surprise well that's a hell of a surprise

01:47:25 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

what did you think though when you noticed that she was all dressed up and she didn't look like she was wearing anything that she could walk on i thought she looked nice so you still took her walking around and we see women in heels but what about the what about the food you said something

01:47:42 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 3:

about pizza or whatever what was that all about yeah we got we got pizza for dinner okay so you're

01:47:48 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 1:

But you didn't sit down to eat the pizza. It was like, grab and go.

01:47:54 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, we sat for a minute.

01:47:56 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:47:56 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 3:

And then I was like, do you want to finish this and keep walking? I love walking.

01:48:00 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But if this was going to be a surprise, why not say, wear something comfortable and meet me? Yeah. I mean, he couldn't even text her when his car died. So that's where I think you went really wrong, by the way. That was super rude. Just side note. Like, you should have just let her know because she would have probably had compassion for the fact that your battery died and you were going to be late.

01:48:18 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 2:

But I get the idea that this relationship that started with these guys talking nonstop is now going to nothing because I wouldn't talk to him either.

01:48:29 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 1:

See, I don't think the date was bad. But I think like I like Steven like to walk around and just like grab a drink here, grab something here. I love that. That would not bother me whatsoever. I feel like it was just huge miscommunication that you gave her the address of a nice restaurant. So I would, like Andy, have assumed, like, oh, I probably need to dress up a little bit because this is where we're going. So I don't think your date was bad or a bad idea, but you really misconveyed. Is that a word? Miscommunicated. Miscommunicated. I can't think today. It's freaking good. No, it's all right. You really miscommunicated what the date was going to be like for her.

01:49:11 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I just kind of wanted to go with the flow, I guess.

01:49:13 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 1:

And I love that. But you need to let her know.

01:49:18 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 3:

He's bloody.

01:49:19 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 1:

You can go with the flow with expectations. Right.

01:49:23 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. The address I sent is a good place to park. That's why I picked that address. They usually park there.

01:49:30 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 1:

I know, but if you didn't say, hey, hey, you know, this is a good place to park. The assumption is that you are going to that place to eat.

01:49:43 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea wants to comment. Chelsea, what's up?

01:49:45 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

yeah um so i could understand the whole you know yeah that might have been a little bit of a miscommunication on his part but she's grown she could have opened her mouth and been like hey like i'm getting kind of tired i'm hungry like you know what's the plan for the rest of the morning anything

01:50:00 - 01:50:05 | Speaker 3:

that's not a good enough reason to ghost somebody and she's been kind of overly standoff see i i

01:50:05 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 1:

agree with you 90 of the time where it's like people at least just pick up the phone you're a grown person he's the one that should have been the grown person and said he should have said

01:50:15 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 3:

something during the day i understand and i agree with that i wouldn't call him back either after he's late for the day like you know what i i you know this wasn't for me this was nice yeah what girl doesn't want to get to know a guy and i feel like that's what he was trying to do is get to

01:50:30 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 1:

know her and she i don't know this is why i say all the time to the girls on the show i go i feel so bad for you guys this is us guys thank you this is awful but chelsea don't you also think

01:50:43 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 6:

a little part of that is especially on the first few dates i'm worried about coming off as like high maintenance or hard to get a lot of work. Right, but I think her voicing, the fact that if she needed a...

01:50:58 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 1:

She wasn't high maintenance that night, though.

01:51:00 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 7:

Wait, Megan, say what you were trying to say.

01:51:03 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 6:

If she voices that she's very uncomfortable and doesn't want to do that and doesn't want to go for a walk and wants to sit down at a restaurant, then it's going to come off as... But there's nice ways to say that, though.

01:51:12 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 3:

If you can convey that in a nice way, that wouldn't be high maintenance. I'm sure he would have been like, oh, I'm sorry. Let's go do this or let's go do that. You know what I mean?

01:51:21 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 1:

She played along. She was a good sport about the whole thing. I wouldn't call him back either. I don't know. I don't know. Ellie, what's up?

01:51:32 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I just feel like, like you said, miscommunication. Why didn't anyone ask, hey, what are we doing tonight?

01:51:39 - 01:51:39 | Unknown:

Well.

01:51:40 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 4:

Is it that hard to say, like, oh, hey, what are we doing tonight? Obviously, there was the assumption because of the address, but I don't think it was that hard to just double check.

01:51:50 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, this is the first time that I've ever heard a guy do something that I didn't agree with, that every woman is agreeing with the guy. It's wild. Usually, I'm like, oh, this guy seems like a nice guy, and everybody's like, he's an A, you know, hole. I almost said it. Would y'all be mad at that, though?

01:52:08 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 7:

Really, the only thing I think he was an A-hole for was for not calling and telling her he was going to be late. I don't think the date was bad.

01:52:13 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, it seemed kind of spontaneous. Can I add something?

01:52:18 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 1:

Sure, Andy.

01:52:19 - 01:52:37 | Speaker 5:

So, I agree with the callers. I could have spoken up and communicated. And I do give Stephen credit for communicating with me at the end of the date to Venmo me for the tip for the pizza.

01:52:38 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what did you say? There's a twist. he venmoed you

01:52:44 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 5:

yeah he wanted me to tip him like he wanted me to pay for the tip and like venmo him the money after the date

01:52:52 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 1:

is that right Stephen

01:52:54 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 2:

yeah I covered the tip so I was like hey if you could just you know send me half of that

01:53:01 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 1:

yep

01:53:04 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 6:

man her feet hurt and her wallet hurts I see why you were ghosting I just want to ask something but it's going to be wrong You can't say that.

01:53:13 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 7:

Come on, you got to do it.

01:53:15 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 6:

Our finance is done for now. Should we be dating?

01:53:18 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 2:

I thought you were always supposed to go Dutch in the beginning until then you start picking restaurants because then it's like if you pick the restaurant, you're supposed to pay, right?

01:53:27 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, you didn't pick anything. You picked a parking lot.

01:53:30 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 1:

You picked a parking lot and a pizza place. But I think you guys should go on another date with each other. Out of all the second dates, I think we should try to get a positive out of this one. How about another date?

01:53:43 - 01:53:44 | Speaker 2:

I'd be interested. I could.

01:53:45 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 6:

She said, um, that's a no. What if he told you what to wear? Like, comfortable or nice?

01:53:52 - 01:53:55 | Speaker 2:

I think you should always dress comfortably in life.

01:53:56 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 8:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30s. The back throw down. The second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:54:04 - 01:54:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my Lord.

01:54:07 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 8:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:54:09 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 1:

All right. Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

01:54:13 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 7:

So the latest on Aiden Hutchinson's gruesome leg injury that he sustained during last night's game. If you are squeamish, just a fair warning to you. Don't watch the video. But while sacking Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in the third quarter, Hutch's leg whipped around and hit, like, literally hit his teammate. Is it Alan McNeil? Is that how you say his name? McNeil, for sure. I know it's McNeil. I didn't know how you pronounce his first name. Anyway, he kept mouthing while he was laying on the ground. I broke it. It's broken. So they brought out the air cast. He was eventually carted off on a stretcher. The broken tibia, which is what it was, required immediate surgery at a Dallas area hospital. Here's Dan Campbell after the game. He's in good hands right now. He's being taken care of. He'll stay back.

01:55:00 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 1:

here um and um you know obviously he's gonna be down for a little while and uh so that that's tough man it's hard when you lose somebody like him and uh but we'll know a lot more after this

01:55:12 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 3:

and uh obviously wish him the best so nfl network is saying this is a season ending injury for hutch while a source close to aiden told the detroit news last night actually it's not worst case scenario if the lions when the lions go to the super bowl he could maybe have a chance at playing so which is what february that that would happen in february so we have dr ron letterman on um who is a orthopedic surgeon what's up ron how you doing buddy hey good morning good morning appreciate it i think you've helped out like half of us i know dr letterman at some point or another it's

01:55:52 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 2:

been a little while nice to talk with you all again uh dr letterman this is one of the most

01:55:57 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 4:

gruesome things ever when you see a football player have a break like this and what is the healing process that aiden's going to have to go through well you're right it's gruesome and as you

01:56:09 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 2:

can see or not see the networks are not showing the replay which they normally would over and over again right yeah but here's the silver lining for all the detroit lions fans i would much rather have a broken bone than torn ligaments in your knee or shoulder because the broken bone will heal with new healthy bone and it'll be as good as new so that's the silver lining so it was

01:56:38 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 4:

seeing him in the the pain that he was in obviously that pain is is from what just took place in the trauma of what took place he goes in for surgery they say is that is that routine to have surgery for a broken bone like that?

01:56:54 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 2:

So the tibia is the big, long bone below the knee all the way down to the ankle. And you have to stabilize a long bone. That's what it's called. You have your femur bone, which is above the knee. You have the tibia below the knee. And if you break that bone, and in his case, I understand that it was probably a clean break because everybody on the field knew right away, which means there was a deformity. It probably had an angle to it, and that's the gruesome part of it, right? People don't want to see the angle of the leg. So you straighten it, you put that air cast on like you mentioned, and then you want to go to the operating room right away. And I suspect what they did is they put what's called a rod, a metal rod, right down the middle of that bone, and it stabilizes the fracture. It keeps the leg straight and lined up perfectly. And the three reasons to do that immediately is, number one, the minute you fix it, you're starting the healing process. So that's great that he had it fixed yesterday. Number two, if you have a long bone that's broken and it's not stabilized, you can't move around. You can't mobilize yourself. And so you're at risk for developing a blood clot. And the third reason is mobilization. Let's get it fixed. Let's get Hutch back up on his feet, although not putting full weight on it. Get him back up and about, starting with crutches, and hopefully this guy's a specimen. He's young. He's healthy. He'll heal quickly, and hopefully within three, four, five weeks, he'll be walking fully on the leg and up and around. Really?

01:58:44 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 4:

What are your thoughts for getting back on a field? Is it possible that he could be back on the field if the Lions, you know, run through a playoff run?

01:58:54 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I want to say yes, but I don't think so. I want to give all the fans some hope, a glimmer of hope. And like I said, there's a few things, you know, I got to tell you, Tom, maybe you know this, maybe not. But sorry, Mojo.

01:59:09 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's all right. That's okay.

01:59:10 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 2:

You know, in my practice at Letterman Quarters Orthopedics, we do a lot of regenerative medicine. And the things that we do for our athletes, we might start with a bone stimulator. I'm sure the lions are going to put that leg under a bone stimulator, which will speed up the healing. We might do a laser treatment, which also has been shown to speed up the healing of a broken bone. The other things you can do is PRP. The PRP stands for plasma-rich protein, so you draw some blood from Hutch, you spin it down in a special kit, special centrifuge, and you're left with this plasma-rich protein material that you can inject around the fracture. You can inject into an arthritic joint, and it helps regenerate, and it helps with healing. And then the last thing is a regenerative. stem cell injection also that would require injecting around the fracture now some of this is not um has not been approved by the fda but it has still proven to be very very effective so when you ask whether or not he can get back to it look 20 years ago tom brady was the first person to do prp when he had some ailments and look at this guy he had a you know 20 plus year career so So for someone like Hutch, they're going to throw the kitchen sink at him, and could he be back? I wouldn't put it past him.

02:00:35 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 5:

Ron Letterman. Dr. Ron Letterman, appreciate it. Dr. Letterman, by the way, has, like Shannon said, worked on all of us. And actually, some of those treatments that he's talked about have been the reason why, especially my kids, have been able to get back out in the field so fast, too. So that's amazing what you guys do. Appreciate it. Well, thank you. We appreciate it. Thanks for all the info, buddy. We appreciate you. And we're getting text messages from your patients right now. So there's a lot of athletes out there that have come to Dr. Letterman. We'll talk to you later. Love it. Thank you all.

02:01:06 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 2:

Good to talk to you. And I'll make myself available with any updates.

02:01:09 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, buddy. Appreciate you. Talk to you later.

02:01:11 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 3:

So another big dirty story today that's just coming out. R. Kelly's daughter is coming forward and accusing him of sexually abusing her as a child. She shared this bit of info in the new documentary, R. Kelly's Karma, A Daughter's Journey. She said she woke up to her dad touching her while she pretended to sleep. She was 10 years old, you guys. After telling her mom what happened, she did not go to her dad's house anymore. They did file a complaint with the police, but they weren't able to prosecute because she had waited too long to say anything. R. Kelly's attorney says he vehemently denies these allegations.

02:01:47 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 1:

The DCFS determined that the allegation was unfounded many years ago. why it's coming back up. I don't really know the circumstances, but he certainly denies it. And it's our position that if there was any merit to the claims, certainly charges would have been brought. I can assure you prosecutors would have loved to put his daughter on the stand to accuse him in the many prosecutions they indicted him for. Here's more from the attorney,

02:02:16 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 3:

by the way. This is not Nicole, who's been calling our so for the past couple of weeks related to the Diddy stuff. This is another of R. Kelly's attorneys.

02:02:23 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 1:

We know that sometimes people come to believe things based on having distorted and contaminated memories, particularly children, and this can be done by their mothers. I mean, this is not junk science. This stuff exists. I don't know what her motivation is. Yeah, so this attorney is saying

02:02:41 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 3:

maybe mom brainwashed R. Kelly's daughter, her daughter, into thinking that something happened By telling her stories over the years, and it's like the Mandela effect, then you actually believe it's something that happened. That's what this attorney is alleging.

02:02:56 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 5:

That, by the way, that seems like people would be upset by that allegation to say that.

02:03:02 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Ariana Grande had hosting duties for SNL over the weekend. She's great, by the way. Busted out all of her very impressive impersonations of Miley, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, and Celine Dion doing a UFC promo.

02:03:18 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Ignite the bittersweet memories that live inside my soul. And in the octagon.

02:03:26 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 1:

UFC fighting. Showing her heart!

02:03:35 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 4:

She's so good. The whole episode is freaking fantastic.

02:03:40 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I didn't have time to pull it, but if you can today, spare three minutes. watch Ariana Grande and Dana Carvey doing the Jennifer Coolidge Maybelline ad. That? It is so damn funny. When they couldn't keep their composure and they were laughing, you know it's good. The smell of my best friend's house is the most dramatic journey I've ever taken in a SNL sketch in my entire life. I had no idea where it was going to end and I was crying laughing by the end. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, you can check out the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:04:18 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, how was your scary weekend? You actually were at a place called, was it Scream? Is that what it was called?

02:04:26 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I was at the Scream Machine in Taylor. It was incredible, man. Like, I've been to a few hundred houses. This was by far the scariest haunted house that I've ever been inside. Scream Machine sounds like a ride at Cedar Point. It does, but it is everything but that. Do you like scary stuff? I do. I really enjoy scary stuff. I was literally, I was scared in here. And I was a little worried because I brought Josiah with me, and this was going to be his first time going to a haunted house. And I didn't drag him. I didn't make him go. I axed him. I re-axed him.

02:05:00 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 2:

to ensure that he was good to go and he said he was good to go and it was great they had like you know scary people outside of the venue and one of the things that really kind of threw me we got a new sales guy here jay and um he uh he was like bro uh we can't go in right now i'm like what do you mean he was like they're literally cleaning up in there what do you mean cleaning up he was like it's so scary i'm not gonna ruin it because i want you to check them out because it was incredible but there's an area in there where the room moves and shakes and it rises and it falls and there is someone in the room that is in one position and then the lights go out and then lights come on they're in another position no it's no it was scary and you have no idea you have no idea this play bro they make you crawl through tunnels like it's it was it was levels in there i was like Like, yo, I didn't know what was coming next. So there's this room. It's raising, it's falling. Lights are coming on. She's in the corner. Lights coming on. She's in your face. And it's all over the place. He said they were cleaning up because a kid peed himself. And peed himself so bad. A kid or an adult? Like a teenager. That's my name. Yeah, yeah. Bro said he peed himself so bad that it was on the floor. No. And they had to, like, stop it and mop it up and, like, clean it up and make sure it was good.

02:06:19 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 4:

And you know he was with his friends.

02:06:21 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, had to be. Oh, no.

02:06:22 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 4:

That story is living on forever. Forever and ever.

02:06:26 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 3:

Do they make an announcement? It's kind of like this ride is going to be broken for a little bit.

02:06:30 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 2:

What if you're earlier in the house? What if he was on a date? Oh, yeah. I didn't get all of that information, but it didn't deter me from wanting to go inside. That kind of stuff is like, oh, this must be really scary. Let's go inside.

02:06:44 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 3:

Whenever they have these things, and I think of those people that work at them, those poor bastards must have to deal with a lot of crap. because I can only imagine that if you got people peeing there, and I can only imagine that people's general reaction, too, is also to fight back if something comes up and scares them. People get punched, probably.

02:07:05 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 2:

They made a point, and where we were set up with our promotion staff was right in the front near the entrance, and we kept hearing the person repeat over and over again as every new group came in, and that was an amazing thing, too, because sometimes you can cheat, and when I say cheat in a haunted house, if there is a large group of individuals, you can kind of hear when the scaries are going to take place because the group in front of you is so close to where you are. So if I can hear you're screaming 10 paces ahead of me, then I can almost anticipate that something's going to happen. They did a great job of staggering everyone. And through this introduction is, listen, if you don't run, they won't chase you. Do not touch them. They won't touch you. They understand that people, to your point, they flail and they punch and all that.

02:07:55 - 02:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Well, and also I think there's probably some people that are just a-holes and want to master them and stuff. Yeah, that's true. Like, look at this. We're on a date. Watch this. I'm going to beat this guy up in a mask or something. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. That's awesome that they stagger the people through it because there's nothing worse than when you're a big group and they're just trying to make as much money as they possibly can just rifling you through. What's up, Cassie?

02:08:22 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 1:

Hi. My ex-husband used to work at The Haunt back when it was on Waldorf in Grand Rapids.

02:08:27 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:08:28 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 1:

And they would actually keep track of how many people either peed or pooped their pants and that kind of thing. Wait a second.

02:08:33 - 02:08:35 | Speaker 3:

Some people actually pooed themselves?

02:08:36 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:08:37 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my. Like, tally board thing. Was it called the poo-poo report, or what was it called? Like, what was the level of scare?

02:08:45 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

I'm not sure what they called it at all, but it was just hilarious because I know you said those poor people but i know they actually try their hardest to scare yeah do you use that in

02:08:55 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 3:

your advertising this you know honestly they should yeah yeah i i would think that if i heard an ad three poops a night yeah it will scare the out of you you know what i mean that's like yeah you know how they put the stars at the bottom of the thing like for movies and stuff You know, it's like, Kevin Irwin says it me. So yeah.

02:09:19 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 1:

Also first time long. Cassie's on the phone.

02:09:24 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 3:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Any of those people that work in these things, you got to call us up and tell us some of the craziest crap that literally that you guys have had to deal with. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. God, there were so, hold on a second. There's so many crazy stories from this weekend. I want to mention one in particular because I want people not to give DTE energy a bad rap for this because obviously there's nothing they can do about just bad people. But there was a story that came out.

02:10:00 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 1:

It came out of our listening area in the Detroit area that has made national news right now where two guys went to a home in Rochester, Michigan, and they posed as DTE workers. So they posed as they were working for DTE and that there was a gas leak and they were there to fix the gas leak. So they looked like they worked for something.

02:10:28 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 2:

They had a clipboard. They had a credential, a badge, a vest.

02:10:33 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 1:

They came to the front door and they said, here's DTE. We're checking for gas leaks. So he said that through the ring cam. The family opened up the door only to have them take them hostage, take the 72-year-old man into the basement where they killed him, and they tied up his wife, and then they took off. Well, there was a search for them all across, not just our area, but across the country. They put out a nationwide search, and we have an update right now from Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, good friend of the Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Mike, how are you?

02:11:20 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Morning. You know, obviously a very, very sad case, something that we're very engaged in at every level. We've been working around the clock on it, and we wanted to make sure the public, as you said, doesn't hold us against DTE. These are bad people that were coming there to do bad things, and they were impersonating a legitimate and a good company.

02:11:43 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 1:

So, Mike, the guys showed up, the family lets them in, which I probably would have done too, which obviously DTE is now coming out saying that if somebody does come to your door, they would have appropriate, I guess, paperwork or something like that that they would show you on that? How would you keep from something like this happening?

02:12:08 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would not rely on paperwork because, you know, we've seen people, you know, fake police credentials. You know, there's so many different access points. What I would do, and I would encourage people to do, if someone shows up at their door and it's not an expected visit, like you don't have an appointment with a company, be it a utility or somebody else, don't give them access to your house until you independently look up Google, whatever your case may be, the phone number of that company and call that company and say, do you have a worker trying to gain access to my house right now? Because you just don't know until you do. And so it's not just a utility worker. If you remember a number of years ago, we had a similar thing happen in the area where a person showed up on the porch during the holidays with a pretty looking gift basket and said, you got to sign for it. And they opened the door, pushed their way in in a very tragic circumstance followed that. So I don't recommend people open the door to anybody. They don't know 100% who they are and why they're there. And if you tell them, look, just leave the delivery in the porch and they say, you got to sign for it. I'd rather, you know, tell friends and family and the public. So you miss a delivery and they got to come back. You know, that's fine. It's much better than the alternative if that person is there with bad intentions.

02:13:30 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 1:

So let's talk about this case. So a 72-year-old man that lived there, he was the owner of a pawn shop that was in the Detroit area. Are we believing, because once I heard the pawn shop thing, I started thinking, okay, this was definitely a targeted thing. Am I wrong in thinking that, or do I watch too much Law & Order SVU or something?

02:13:49 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 2:

No, we think it was targeted as well. We think very much so that, you know, because this was a small business, that they, like many times again that we've seen in the past, targeted this family and this home because they were under the belief that either cash or proceeds or potentially, in this case, jewelry, since they own a jewelry and a pawn business, may have been in the home. You know, we know they were looking for cash and jewelry and valuables. So I think it was targeted. We don't know that for a fact, but just my intuition based on how many I've seen across my career, that's what I believe.

02:14:26 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 1:

Okay, you guys were able to apprehend one of the people, one of the suspects, and the guy got all the way down to Shreveport, Louisiana? That is crazy.

02:14:37 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he got in the wind pretty quick, and part of that was because Ring wasn't helpful to us, quite frankly. You know, we had the owner's permission, we had a search warrant, and Ring wouldn't give us access to the account. They reset the password, but the problem was is that it had two-factor authentication, and it was going to her phone, which was taken in the robbery. And so we couldn't get access to the account. They knew that and had our detectives, they told our detectives to send them an email that they would forward to the law enforcement coordinating group or whatever they call it within the company. Well, that's not very helpful when you've got exigent circumstances looking for a murderer. So thankfully, our detectives were smart and our computer crimes people were there working it with them. And what they did is they ended up having a new phone purchased and then had Verizon transfer the service from the stolen phone to the new phone so that when two-factor authentication kicked over, they could verify it on the new phone in her name. That's unbelievable.

02:15:40 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 3:

That is genius. Wait, first off, yeah, props to your guys and gals for figuring that out. but that's unbelievable that you guys did not have the video that we saw for how long of a time

02:15:53 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 2:

because ring wouldn't give it to you hours that's crazy got that out as soon as we got it i posted it myself because i knew it'd be very distinctive just based on what i saw so i got a short clip had my computer crimes guy cut it up so you could hear the voice and got the best image from the one video and put it out there immediately we started getting tips but at that point it had been hours since this had occurred and obviously you know the guy was into the wind uh pretty quickly you know given how far he had got he was all the way down in louisiana so you know maybe

02:16:30 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 3:

we could have caught him in the state who knows is the guy that got caught the first guy that was in that video because there was another guy standing behind him it looks like he's hiding

02:16:38 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 2:

in the video yeah yeah um yeah it was the guy that was kind of front and center the big guy

02:16:44 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 3:

And is he going to rat out the other guy or what's going to happen here? What do we know?

02:16:48 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, time will tell. But we're still asking the public to give us any information. If they knew the primary suspect whose picture and name is on our Facebook page and Twitter, if they know that person, they know his accomplices or friends, maybe they know who that other person is. So we're looking for tips. They can either call us or call 1-800-SPEAK-UP. because we haven't gotten nearly the same number of tips on suspect number two that we did on one because one was very recognizable, his voice. We had all of that. We didn't have that so far on the second suspect.

02:17:23 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 3:

That is pretty freaking amazing that that's how this works, that you're able to catch these guys and catch them in the act. What a horrible thing for this family to have to deal with. I've had a number of people reach out to me that know the family, knew the 72-year-old man that was killed, which how senseless it is that they're turning a robbery into a murder.

02:17:46 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 2:

And it's ridiculous on so many levels.

02:17:49 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And say nothing but amazing things about the family, which, God, this is really scary.

02:17:56 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 2:

No, terrible scary. And I talked to the neighbors, you know, because I was there on scene and in the house and talking to neighbors and the neighbors, you know, he was the nicest guy, always talked everybody and you know they're such a sweet person and it just you know breaks your heart to see that this is how you know he is dealt with by today's world such little value for human life

02:18:19 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 3:

yeah it's just very sad quick question to the guys in the room here for a second would if somebody comes to your door and knocks on your door are you an open to the door person because

02:18:28 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 1:

i'm an open to the door person i am this i i feel terrible saying this in front of sheriff bouchard i feel like you're gonna yell at me and you should but i i this happened the week before last where two guys came to the door and they looked like nice and put together and thank goodness they were legit and they were from my neighborhood and they were trying to like you know stop a road from being paved or whatever but i the same way as you mojo i yeah i feel like i don't know but now i also have had member um workers coming into my backyard yeah remember last year and I ended up calling DTE and asking them if my home, I gave them my address, if my home was on a list for any sort of work being done and stuff, and they will get back to you immediately without answer. So if you're unsure, I mean, all it takes is a quick phone call and it's not like you're going to be put on hold or anything. They do answer you right away.

02:19:19 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 2:

Yep. Don't, don't, don't. I am going to yell at you. Don't open your door because, you know, you just don't know. And as I said, I've seen this in multiple cases where people impersonate either a utility worker or a delivery person, and everybody's getting packages these days and going into the holidays even more so, oh, it might be a gift that I'm not aware is coming. And I don't want them to take it away. Well, let them take it away because, you know, there will be a second choice to either have it delivered again or you can go pick it up. Better safe than sorry. We've heard that a million times.

02:19:53 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Sheriff Mike Bouchard, Oakland County Sheriff, we appreciate you for coming on the air with us and keeping us informed on this thing.

02:20:00 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 1:

Sure thing. We'll talk to you soon, okay? All righty. Take care. It's like nuts. I mean, this is like things that movies are made of when you see it. It's amazing how fast after they were able to get the ring details, the video of that, and get it out, that people were able to rat these guys out and then be able to catch the guy. If he's going down to Shreveport, Louisiana, he's going as far as he possibly can. That guy was trying to get away. He knew what he did. All right, Mojo in the morning show. uh megan at the boot barn uh yesterday which by the way that place looked really cool can i tell

02:20:37 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 3:

you that's not what i had in my head you know when you walk into a salon and it smell like it has that smell that is so good that's what it felt like walking into a boot barn like it just hit you with a smell of leather and it just smelled oh so good why is it that i do love certain smells of certain places yeah because even like if you're really thinking about it salons smell

02:20:58 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 1:

like shampoo and chemicals and i love it really like like like chemo yeah are you a sniff the

02:21:07 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 3:

chemicals type of a person haven't you just said you were at a salon no i know but it sounded funny

02:21:12 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 1:

when you said the chemicals i i don't like the smell of candle candle stores like i don't like them at all i feel like all the candles together make a mishmash of just crap the smells it makes my stomach hurt but i love the smell of leather is something and then i love going to like tire stores like like bell tire discount tour and smelling rubber yes i i absolutely agree with

02:21:36 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 3:

you so honestly the whole trip started out on such a high because what a great way to start yeah working just walking into something that smells amazing real quick before before you tell

02:21:46 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 1:

your story do you think the boot barn is going to be mad at us because now people are going to go they're just a smell they're gonna be like the new jimmy johns free smells

02:21:54 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 3:

if we could bottle it we would that's what they should call it uh but i i went in there it started out great and um this poop barn's in toledo so i was excited to go home i was spending a lot of time at home this weekend and it was just you know something fun to do great excuse to go check out a new store and all of a sudden the door opens and i am so grateful we have so many amazing listeners uh to kiss that y'all literally drove so far to come out and just say hi and i really really appreciated that i mean we had people from bg coming and this boot barn's at um secor and central so i mean that's kind of a hike and people came from everywhere and everybody was so incredibly kind but as i'm talking to these listeners who are great um my best friend jillian walks in with a coffee unannounced and i saw her and she held up a coffee and smiled at me and i just immediately started crying like i'm having a good day i'm seeing my family so many fun things that happen i have not seen jillian in a too long of a time and she just showed up to be a good friend and say hi and drop me off something nice and go along her day and you never just have those moments where you you just don't deserve the friends that you have and that's absolutely what had happened so all of these listeners see a woman walk in with a coffee me start crying and then her go I love you and walk away

02:23:22 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 1:

she didn't call ahead of time to say hey what do you want

02:23:26 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 3:

no she lived nearby and she just knew I was going to be there

02:23:31 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 1:

and then left

02:23:32 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 3:

and I just bawled like a little girl

02:23:36 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 1:

when they saw you start crying do they think this was like a girlfriend that broke up with you or something I don't know. They think there was like something crazy going on?

02:23:44 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 3:

I think she thought that I made, or she made everything super awkward. And some of the listeners was like, you okay? I was like, I just feel really loved right now.

02:23:52 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 1:

How dare you make Megan cry? That's so nice, though, to do that. You know, it's nice to do that and then leave because it's one of those things where it's like such a selfless thing that it wasn't like you, there's no intention other than just to bring you a drink. And by the way, if Jillian's listening, I'll be at the boot barn in... By the way, nobody ever brings dick to me whenever I'm doing anything. I would hope nobody brought dick to me. I want something. Come on.

02:24:24 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 3:

Don't deserve good friends.

02:24:25 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 1:

That was nice, Megan. Actually, you know what that reminds me of? It reminds me of, like a friendship like you have with Jillian, reminds me of Angel, who's in our sales department, who's appropriately named Angel. She's so thoughtful all the time. She is the most thoughtful person.

02:24:37 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

She is.

02:24:38 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 1:

She does things sometimes where you're like, okay, now what does she want? But then you go, wow, she doesn't want anything. She just did it out of the goodness of her heart.

02:24:45 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

My kids still think that Santa Claus came to our house last year because I had mentioned to Angel that I wanted this purple fluffy coat. And it showed up magically on my porch. And the kids were like, it's crazy.

02:25:00 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 4:

It's Santa!

02:25:01 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 3:

That's amazing. Can we shout out great friends? Sure. Man, shout out Allison and Chelsea from Jay's show. They heard me asking for tea and noticing that we didn't have any. And they went out and they bought me some tea. Black tea, earl, gray, chamomile, options, wrote a nice note. Did they really? Yeah, shout out to them.

02:25:23 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 2:

That's pretty amazing. They don't even say hi to me when I'm in the building. You should say hi. I'm just kidding. Actually, they're very nice. I got a very nice hello from Allison. I always get a hello from Chelsea. That's sweet of them.

02:25:36 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 4:

Allison is very nice.

02:25:38 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

Actually, can I tell you that that is a really sweet thing for them to do, Kev? It was nice. I appreciate it. Do you think that the lady that works in the studio next door to us would ever do that for you?

02:25:50 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, for sure. She offered me her matcha tea. She did? Yeah.

02:25:53 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 2:

It's something about you. It's like Shannon said. There are people that are in this building that despise me, but they love Kevin. You probably did something worth the reaction.

02:26:03 - 02:26:04 | Speaker 3:

I didn't do anything to them.

02:26:05 - 02:26:09 | Speaker 2:

I've done nothing. It's like LeBron. Everybody just hates the, you know.

02:26:09 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 3:

You know about that, too.

02:26:11 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Right? Can we go back to smells for a second?

02:26:16 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 3:

I want to talk about that. I smell BS coming from here. No, no, no, no.

02:26:19 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 2:

No. I want to talk about smells. There's something about the smell of walking into the mall right where that cookie store is. What is the cookie store that's in the mall there? Mrs. Fields? Is it Mrs. Fields? Is it still Mrs. Fields?

02:26:32 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 4:

I mean, there's different ones depending on where you are. Great American cookie.

02:26:36 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. There's like those places. When you walk by that cookie place. Oh, it's Auntie Anne's. It's unbelievable, that smell. Oh, my God. I haven't had an Auntie Anne's pretzel in probably 15 years. Auntie Anne's is a good one. And Cinnabons.

02:26:48 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 4:

Anne's. Auntie Anne's. Auntie Anne's. It's from Thor. It's from Wizard of Oz.

02:26:52 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 2:

Cinnabon, another one. Auntie M's from where?

02:26:53 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Cinnabon, haven't had Cinnabon in forever. Oh, Cinnabon.

02:26:55 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 2:

Sweet Waterlings. Auntie M from the Wizard of Oz. That's right. Toto, look. It's a twister. Auntie M's, but also the other one, too, is- I'm saying it. No, I know, but Auntie Anne's-

02:27:08 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 1:

I like Cinnabon smell.

02:27:11 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 2:

And how about the smell of Sbarro? Okay. It's been sitting in the container for eight years. It's got to be plastic. It's the stuff in the Sbarro. I've never seen anybody eat at a Sbarro.

02:27:22 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I eat there all the time.

02:27:24 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 2:

Is that thing, the stuff that's in their metal containers, is that plastic food? It's movie prop food?

02:27:30 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 4:

No, that's all the good stuff. People eat there? Everybody gets a slice and you walk away. Y'all missing out on the calzones. Shout out to calzones, boy. Those calzones are fire over there.

02:27:41 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm working on that. By the way, have you guys enjoyed the smell? This might be the reason why Chelsea and Allison love Cavs so much. have you witnessed the smells of what comes out of the mojo in the morning restroom here when kevin walks out of that restroom sometimes the studio smells bad when

02:27:58 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 4:

you walk out here he goes cats farts don't smell i don't know how but they try to find a way

02:28:05 - 02:28:34 | Speaker 2:

i don't get it um do you know how angry i am that i've worked here for as long as i've worked here your first smell i can't even get these people in the building to say hi to me and kevin's only been working on this show for a year and a half, right? Has it been a year and a half even? Yeah, just about. A year and a half. What'd you do? Could you do me a favor? Yeah. You know how they say guilty by association? Could you make me in a good way with them? Like, can you help revive my relationships with the people in this

02:28:34 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 3:

building? I know you're talking about smells, but how about sounds? Listen to this. It's a sound of me drinking the tea from Allison and Justin.

02:28:44 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 2:

You really are. You're drinking the tea and the kool-aid at the same time what's up hayley hi hi um i just wanted to say on auntie

02:28:55 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 1:

and it had been forever since i'd last been to the mall and i smelled auntie and that i followed my notes all the way through the mall to get there i was so proud of myself and the guy who worked there was zero percent proud or impressed of me hayley here's a question for you when the lady

02:29:13 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 2:

offers you the chicken on a stick at the Chinese restaurant, do you take it from her? Because she looks angry if

02:29:21 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 1:

you don't. That's the best chicken.

02:29:24 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 2:

You got to, right? I don't know.

02:29:25 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 1:

If someone cherished the shark's head, I'd say no.

02:29:32 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 2:

I don't think she's going to do it. Oh my God. It is funny though. Megan Bruggs brings up a point about smells of stores. Man, I walk into stores sometimes and the smells just make

02:29:41 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 4:

me happy yeah yeah nostalgic there's some science to it y'all are missing out on magic walk the magic walk fast food chinese is it in toledo is it in a zone building or is it like in the mall

02:29:54 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

no it looks like well both both is it better than uh what's that uh the the chain that

02:30:00 - 02:30:01 | Speaker 5:

It's all over the place. Pan Express? Pan Express.

02:30:01 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 6:

Dude, Pan Express is so good. I remember it from back in the day, and now it's healthy and fresh.

02:30:09 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 4:

Fast and hot, fresh and healthy. Your magic walk, all right? And the menu is 10 times as big. Let me tell you.

02:30:14 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 5:

But you're also the same person that just told me that you like Sbarro. Oh, my God.

02:30:19 - 02:30:25 | Speaker 6:

The judgment in this conversation. And it's only told me. Did you notice how he's agreeing with all of you? Sbarro.

02:30:25 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 5:

Really? Your stomach has got to be rotting on the inside with Sbarro. What's up, Terry? Hi.

02:30:33 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 7:

Well, hi, Mojo. Oh, you're in trouble. This is just a suggestion. You were saying that people around the studio, the building, what have you, never treat you nicely, and you never did anything to them. Maybe that's the problem. You have to flip that. You need to do something nice for them.

02:30:53 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay.

02:30:53 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 7:

And then they'll be nice to you.

02:30:56 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 5:

Okay, well, you're probably right on that one. But I think the problem is, here's the problem. I made fun of people on the air for many, many years. That was the shtick that I had, and now it's gotten me, you know?

02:31:11 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 7:

Here's what you do, though. You say, thank you for letting me do that without getting angry with you.

02:31:18 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 5:

I know. They're morons. I know.

02:31:21 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 7:

There you go.

02:31:22 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 5:

I, I, I am so, I, I've been so mean for so long. I know I've been so mean for so long and that's the, the, the problem.

02:31:30 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 7:

You have never been mean.

02:31:32 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:31:33 - 02:31:37 | Speaker 7:

You have to apologize and say, I really appreciate you letting me do that.

02:31:37 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to, I'm going to do that.

02:31:39 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 6:

He's been mean. He's not been mean to anybody in this building.

02:31:43 - 02:31:45 | Speaker 7:

Motherf**k. Me during this segment.

02:31:46 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, come on. Megan Mack. Steve, what's going on?

02:31:49 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me? Hey, what's going on guys? I, uh, every time we go to Great Lakes Crossing, my wife has to have Sbarro. Has to. 100%.

02:31:58 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 5:

Really?

02:31:59 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 3:

First place we go. It's so good!

02:32:01 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 5:

You're the second person now that I know that eats at Sbarro besides Megan.

02:32:05 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 3:

I have never ate it. I've never ate it.

02:32:09 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 5:

How did your wife's stomach feel? How does her stomach feel after she eats it?

02:32:14 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

You know, I can't answer for her, but we don't usually stay at the mall very long.

02:32:21 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 1:

Damn, it's already that time of year when I have to rake the leaves into my neighbor's yard. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:31 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 5:

Jingle Ball, December the 10th. Little Caesars Arena, presented by Capital One and starring Jack Harlow, Teddy Swims, a whole bunch of other great artists, Jason Derulo, Megan Thee Stallion, Madison Beer.

02:32:48 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 2:

She's not going to be there, but Sweetie's going to be there.

02:32:50 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 5:

Who did I say?

02:32:51 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 2:

Megan Thee Stallion.

02:32:52 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 5:

Why did I say Megan Thee Stallion?

02:32:53 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I was like, wait, did we just?

02:32:55 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 5:

I meant to say Megan, what the heck is her name? Madison Beer.

02:32:59 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:32:59 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 5:

I almost said Megan Trainor then. I'm redoing the whole lineup.

02:33:03 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 6:

This is my lineup.

02:33:05 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 5:

And you know what? If they don't show up, it's not my fault. It's just that they were my dream lineup.

02:33:10 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 6:

Can we play the new Megan Trainor song?

02:33:12 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 5:

No, because she's not going to be at our thing. We're not playing it. If she would have been at our thing, we would have played it. It's not worthy of playing. Here's what I'm going to play. I'm going to play artists that I want to be at this thing. Okay. At Jingle Ball. Stevie B? Oh, God. If Tony would do it, every Chaldean would buy tickets to that show. You guys would watch it.

02:33:30 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 6:

Who would be your number one?

02:33:31 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 5:

Who would be my number one? If I could have any artist in the world come to this thing.

02:33:35 - 02:33:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:33:40 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'd do Taylor Swift because then we would sell it out. Then we wouldn't have to be touting going to Ticketmaster and getting tickets. It would be like the ratings we had when we were giving away those Taylor Swift tickets back a little over a year ago.

02:33:56 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 6:

Shannon, who would be your number one? It would be only boy bands. Every single boy band that I've ever liked. Yes. That would be a good one. It would only be anything. Yeah, it would be like One Direction, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Hanson, BB Max, O-Town. It would be all of them. No authority. The ones you never even heard of.

02:34:16 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 5:

No authority.

02:34:17 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 6:

That I was dancing to in front of my mirror.

02:34:18 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 5:

That would be a great tour. Why don't we do that as a tour? We should do that as a tour. Get all the boy band guys that need money. What was it called?

02:34:26 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 4:

Wasn't it like, I love boy bands? They do that. I love 90s. I love hip hop.

02:34:30 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 6:

They've got one person from each band.

02:34:32 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 5:

They had the guys that were the criminals of each band. The guys that were wanted by the law. They couldn't get arrested in a police station. Who would you want, Megan? Who would be your choices? Harry Styles? Harry Styles.

02:34:45 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 4:

Sabrina Carpenter, Beyoncé, Billie. Who else? Oh, Chapel Roan would be great. Chapel Roan. My throwback would be T-Pain for sure.

02:34:56 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 2:

Come on, Teddy Pendergrass down.

02:34:58 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Teddy Pendergrass.

02:35:00 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 2:

That's one of his alter egos, Teddy Pendergrass. Oh, okay. I was going to say Teddy Pendergrass is going to be mine. That's old school.

02:35:06 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 3:

What else do I want to just hit on? It's the opportunity where they are forced to be interviewed.

02:35:12 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 2:

Eminem. That would be great. Eminem and Rihanna. Let's have them play a jingle ball. 844 Mojo Live. Now we're giving away tickets to Jack Harlow, Teddy Swims, Jason Derulo, Madison Beer, Saweetie, NCT Dreams and Juan Ho, December the 10th, 95th Caller. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. What if people show up at this show and go, I thought you said

02:35:38 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 3:

Taylor Swift.

02:35:40 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, what do you got in this hour? It's Dirty on 30.

02:35:42 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 3:

So this leg injury that was pretty much season ending for Aiden Hutchinson during Detroit's beatdown of the Cowboys last night. Same how well they've done on second and third down.

02:35:55 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Aaron, just for a second, Hutchinson is hurt. Oh, boy. I mean, he's their best defensive player. This has been such a great day. It's a heartbreaking scene here in Arlington, and we're not going to show you the replay because we saw it in the break. Trust me, you don't want to see it. Aiden Hutchinson's leg went a very funny way and obviously major concern for him down on the field. And if you could read lips, sounds like he's saying he broke it. And it's just terrible.

02:36:27 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 3:

He did undergo immediate surgery at a hospital in Dallas for a broken tibia, which head coach Dan Campbell said he is getting the best care, but he will be in Dallas for a while recovering.

02:36:37 - 02:36:42 | Speaker 2:

Do you see the Lions Instagram people are so great there? They do the greatest social.

02:36:43 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 3:

It really is a great account.

02:36:44 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 2:

They posted the picture of AT&T Stadium showing how many fans were at the game, but they blurred the score up on the scoreboard so that when people saw that 93,644 fans were there, they didn't also notice that the Cowboys were getting beat 47 to nine.

02:37:04 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 3:

So bad. Yeah, that's great. Love me. Nick Cannon revealing that, yeah, he was at some of Diddy's famous parties when he was like 15 years old and he said he doesn't have anything to hide. He also said, by the way, these were not freak-off parties.

02:37:22 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 4:

I've even been at one when I was a kid, like 16, 17, standing outside. Come on. You said this one. Come on. I live my truth. I remember standing outside, you know, trying to get into a puff party out here in New York. Like, everybody was up. Like, how the One More Chance video looked. Hey, whatever. Y'all talk to that. everybody gets scared to talk because they probably got something to hide i don't have nothing to hide i was in there harlem shaking doing all of that stuff but it

02:38:00 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 3:

wasn't come on whatever yeah by the way he never had a drink in a no never been drunk a day in his

02:38:06 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 2:

life yeah never been drunk a day in his life well it's well he's all he's isn't uh he's muslim too So he follows his religion. He, or I was going to say, I saw this weekend, my algorithms on my Instagram came up and I saw some of the Kardashians, the keeping up with the Kardashians videos when Diddy, I guess, made a lot of appearances on keeping up with the Kardashians over the years. Watching some of the video of them talking to him about their parties is the most incriminating, crazy stuff hearing them talk and hearing Kim talk about going with Kanye and hearing Khloe talk about being there and falling asleep at the parties

02:38:48 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure they have seen a lot

02:38:51 - 02:39:07 | Speaker 2:

I've heard there's a lot of there's a lot of people by the way that are insinuating some really nasty stuff about some celebrities the big name that I keep hearing is Oprah Oprah's name comes up a ton which I would never think Oprah would go to a ditty party

02:39:07 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 4:

that she's been going to these parties.

02:39:10 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 2:

That's been a lot of places. You think so?

02:39:13 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 3:

Everybody was going. Everybody did in the Hamptons, but not the freak-off parties. Yeah. Right.

02:39:17 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 2:

You don't think that any of these celebrities went to the freak-off parties?

02:39:20 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 3:

I can't see Oprah at a freak-off. I don't know. I mean, I don't know.

02:39:23 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:39:23 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, Kylie Jenner, Timothee Chalamet spotted together at a restaurant in New York City over the weekend. Very rare that they're even out in public together displaying some PDA. Such a big deal, in fact, that the restaurant they were at, Little Charlie Roman Style Pizza, actually posted on their Instagram. This lovely couple came in the other night and it is making some headlines. So in case you were wondering, yes, they are together still and going strong. In other celebrity relationship dirty, Joe Jonas spotted also doing some PDA with the mystery brunette at a bar in Paris over the weekend. Fans online say she is in.

02:40:00 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 2:

Influencer, Brenda Sellos. What did I say her last name? Say it one more time, Brenda. Who? Sellos, C-E-L-L-O-S. Sellos? Sellos? I don't know. And lastly, Terrifier 3, a gory, low-budget slasher film that I will never see. Topped the weekend box office. $18.3 million. Art the Clown is back for that one, which means the Joker sequel starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga dropped 81% in its second week. I'm bringing in just $7 million. It tied Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice for the second and third spot.

02:40:33 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 3:

Terrifier 3 cost less to make than they paid Joaquin Phoenix to be in the Joker movie and made more money than the Joker movie.

02:40:43 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 1:

But here's the thing. You know where I think it's going to come out? Everybody's going to watch it once it's on a streaming platform because everybody's going to want to know, was it as bad? Did it deserve to lose all of this money? For sure. So I wonder how much money they'll make off of streaming rights. Because I bet it's going to be, everybody wants to watch it. Who wants to bid on this?

02:41:01 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 3:

Or it will win every award, probably.

02:41:03 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 1:

No, because it has to go to HBO, right?

02:41:05 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 3:

That's where the first one is.

02:41:06 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it has to go to HBO.

02:41:08 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 2:

They got all the DC films. Yeah, or it's going to win Academy Award for music or, you know, whatever. I don't know. All right, for all of today's 30, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MiddletonMorning.com.

02:41:20 - 02:42:30 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Mojo in the Morning. Throw in a party. We want you guys to be at it. We're going to do a party for Halloween. And it is going to be at Eloise Asylum. Lydia, let's open up the phone lines to those that would like to hang out with us on October the 25th. That is a week from Friday already. Crazy. So costume contest, $1,000. It is our mojo in the morning booze and baddies party that we're going to be having at Eloise Asylum, which is a former mental hospital, right? Isn't it? Is that what they call it? it's like a psychiatric hospital I believe. Yeah. And a former psychiatric hospital that was turned into a haunted you know. Attraction. But they say it's haunted. They say the place is haunted. Like legit.

02:42:30 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh you can tell that place is haunted. That's not up for discussion. You go there and you can feel it.

02:42:38 - 02:43:30 | Speaker 3:

Honestly Kevin I agree with you. I sit there and I think to myself whose idea was this? I think it was mine because I think we were looking for a place to go and do this. I'm like, you know what? We got to have something different. Like we can't like you can't throw this party in a rooftop, you know, the Godfrey or something like that. Like it's too nice. First off, they'll never want us to come back when they see people in all their crazy costumes and stuff. But secondly, the atmosphere has to be that, you know, it has to be the scariness of it. And when you're throwing these parties, whenever we throw these parties and we've done Halloween parties in the past there are certain places like we did one at the royal oak music theater that was amazing but it was almost too big and too many people like i hate to say this i don't think i was able to talk to five percent of the people that were there that was a good one that was the

02:43:30 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 2:

stranger theme it was amazing stranger things theme party it was just too many people yeah

02:43:35 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 3:

it was a lot i mean we had how many people does that place uh fit a couple three thousand or something like that yeah that's and i think we had that many people there and then we did a halloween costume contest and it was near impossible to be able to get the best costumes up on stage without having the costume contest start at seven o'clock at night yeah so i'm

02:43:53 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 4:

excited for this man yeah i tried on my i don't think i'm wearing the costume i tried on yes first off historically i've never been a costume person in my adult life of course as a kid like i dressed up but like once i got to a certain age for some reason i took the stands like that's just not for me i think i was like i'm too cool for that or maybe i was nervous i tried on my costume yesterday everything fit fire but i don't know if i'm wearing that one i got two costumes i think i'm gonna wear a costume b to the party that's the more toned down costume it what's what's wrong with the toned up costume uh i think i'm gonna just wear that in the studio like that might just be for y'all like when i originally bought it i was like nobody's gonna see us

02:44:31 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 3:

y'all let's see it i care about y'all wear it to the costume party i got another one for that Which one makes you look better?

02:44:39 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 4:

The one that I'm going to do in the studio is like more, I think, it's interesting. They're both funny. The one that I think I'm going to wear at the party is like, I think that one is like more of a pop cultural type of costume.

02:44:50 - 02:44:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Type of costume. Who are you going to? Diddy? What are you doing?

02:44:53 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

No, I'll never do that. Oh, my God, do not. No, I'm not going to do that. We're not going that route. No? God bless him and his family, though, but no.

02:45:00 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 5:

We're good on that.

02:45:01 - 02:45:02 | Speaker 4:

Who are you going as? Is it somebody?

02:45:03 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 5:

No, you'll recognize it. It might be like, oh, that's clever. Like, that's kind of what I'm looking for.

02:45:08 - 02:45:08 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:45:08 - 02:45:14 | Speaker 5:

The first costume is like, Megan's going to love it. I thought of, Megan was one of the people I thought of. Like, yeah, she'll love this one, too.

02:45:14 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 4:

You're going to be a member of One Direction. You got it.

02:45:17 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 1:

No. You know what vibes I get from me on Harry's house? Okay. Those are the vibes. All right. A week from today. Painted nails, glitter overalls, no shirt on underneath. That's going to be it. Fishnets, too. Yeah, baby.

02:45:28 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 5:

Watch out.

02:45:30 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 4:

Do you know when I'll pick my costume? About four hours before. Exactly. That's about when it's happened. No, come on, man.

02:45:36 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 5:

Wear a costume. Go all out.

02:45:38 - 02:45:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I'm going to.

02:45:39 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to that big Halloween party that you go to every year with Chelsea where you guys have to pick a couple's costume?

02:45:44 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so.

02:45:45 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:45:46 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't think. Because that's the weekend, by the way. I'm doing a thing for University of Michigan. Yeah. I'm hosting an event. They're doing a big fundraiser for University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine, the Michigan Athletic Department, and it's a big game weekend, too, that weekend. Michigan's University of Michigan football schedule. Yeah, I'm doing something that day before our event, and then that weekend is, who are they playing on Saturday? They're playing Michigan State. So it's Michigan, Michigan State. So I'm doing, and that's going to be a big one. So Michigan, Michigan State. So that weekend is going to be a weekend of me doing a lot of stuff. And a Justin Timberlake concert, too, on the 20th. Is it really?

02:46:34 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's the same day.

02:46:35 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 4:

Our party, by the way, is going to kick off the weekend on the 25th. And Cynthia is a winner. You're going to be there, Cynthia.

02:46:44 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 5:

Cynthia. Hello.

02:46:47 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Cynthia. How are you?

02:46:49 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 5:

Good. How are you?

02:46:50 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 4:

Good, Cynthia. What's new?

02:46:52 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 5:

First time caller. Yay. Cynthia's on the phone.

02:46:56 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 4:

Cynthia, when you hear about this party, what makes you want to come out?

02:47:01 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, I thought it was for Eloise. What is it for? What party?

02:47:05 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's our party that we're throwing at Eloise Asylum.

02:47:08 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:47:09 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 3:

How exciting.

02:47:10 - 02:47:13 | Speaker 4:

It's a Halloween party. Were you just looking for Eloise Asylum tickets?

02:47:14 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, now you're stuck with us, too. Hey. Two for one. That's even better.

02:47:18 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 4:

Well, here. Talk to Lydia. because maybe I won't hang up on her. I'm not going to hang up on you. Hold on. This is for, this is our party. You will go to Eloise Asylum too, but we're going to have a big party set up that night. Big party tent. No kids allowed, by the way. Kids can come to Eloise. They can go into Eloise Asylum. They're not coming to this party. Connor, are you there? Yo, what's going on? Connor wants to drive in from Lansing to come to this party.

02:47:47 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 2:

Yes, sir.

02:47:48 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 4:

I love it, buddy. Do you listen to us in Lansing every day?

02:47:53 - 02:47:57 | Speaker 2:

Whenever I work out in the Detroit area. We're working out in Warren today.

02:47:57 - 02:48:18 | Speaker 4:

Perfect. You can listen to the Mojo in the Morning Show on the iHeartRadio app. Always get to stream the show when you're in Lansing. But we're looking forward to having you at our party on October the 25th. I don't know why I keep saying December. All righty, brother. Hang on one second, okay? You got to give a ball in the brain. I know. That's what it is. Zuri. Are you there, Zuri?

02:48:19 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:48:20 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 4:

Hey, you're a winner, too. Congratulations. Congrats. Love that name. We're going to be throwing this party on October 25th. It's a week from Friday. It's at Eloise Asylum. Do you think you have any idea what you'll be, or do you have to, like, get your...

02:48:38 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 5:

I already know. I actually just got my costume. Oh, good.

02:48:42 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 3:

Are you going to share?

02:48:46 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to be pretty wise. that's a great one

02:48:52 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 4:

alright we like that sexy Pennywise Georgie we will see you on the 25th Kev does your costume have anything to do with something scary or is it something you said funny

02:49:08 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 3:

when he doesn't know

02:49:09 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 5:

it'll be here before you know

02:49:12 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 3:

you already have your costume right Megan nope I thought you already ordered it

02:49:17 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 4:

I told you to come as a Black Widow.

02:49:20 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:49:21 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 4:

This is, by the way, for Kevin. I had Deep Voice Guy just cut this for you.

02:49:26 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Shout out to the person in the office who put more thought into their Halloween costume than their actual life choices. Happy Halloween from Mojo in the morning.

02:49:35 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 5:

Starting with this job.

02:49:39 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's the thriller laugh. Hold on.

02:49:43 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 5:

It is.

02:49:45 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 4:

That's what you pay, Ron. Yeah. All right. Mojo in the morning. More chances to win tomorrow. I want to bring something up here right now. So I went out and partied over the weekend, got a little bit drunk, and I want to ask this question. and see if you guys have an answer for me. Can you explain to me why some straight people turn gay when they drink? I got hit on by a married guy this weekend. And I think it was like full on hit on. Like I was like one of those things where I felt like the guy was really enjoying me. I don't know what the story was. but it only seems to happen to me that I get hit on by straight guys or guys I thought thought that were straight the married guys and it's usually when they're drunk and somebody needs to explain this to me because I know that there are a lot of women that this happens to where women become by when they have a lot of cocktails and I want to know what is it about that happening and I I, and maybe I, maybe I'm lending myself to this because maybe I become more feminine or something when I'm, uh, when I'm drinking, I don't know what it is. Like even holding my hand, I'm like, well, what is going on here right now? But I, I get, when I get drunk or I, or I'm out, I have guys that will hit on me and explain this to me.

02:51:12 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 3:

It's literally just a drinking thing. You don't think that they're like on the DL type of guys. I don't know.

02:51:17 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I have no idea. Listen, I'm flattered by it. I actually am very flattered. It's nice to have somebody actually pay attention to you. Give me an example, because are they acting the same, and then you're just drunk, so you're picking it up more? Beginning of the night, we're not drinking, or we're not drunk. We're just drinking. We're all hanging out. Everything's cool. We're high-fiving each other. End of the night, I'm getting hugged and groped and stuff.

02:51:40 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 3:

I had a guy friend who was like this. I don't want to say his name. I have a guy friend.

02:51:44 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 4:

He's still with us. Tell me if he does this, when he does this. at the beginning of the night everything is good at the end of the night he's cupping my private parts i mean no i'm just kidding no does he do that at all wait you just you just nodded your

02:51:58 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 3:

head yes he really the way he talked changed the way he interacted with other guys changed like they call them spirits he would talk to you about like dreams that he's had about other guys and I'm like, I don't know if this is the alcohol. The spirits will take over. Maybe this is you and you're just too afraid when you're sober to be the man that you are, period.

02:52:26 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 4:

Wow. I don't know. I'm gay now. Wow. I don't know what it is, but it has happened to me a couple of times over the course of the last few months where I'll go out, we'll drink, we'll have fun, and then at the end of the night, I got guys wrapping their arms around me

02:52:43 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 3:

you know what I mean? Although I will say I feel like girls or maybe I'm just speaking for myself but I feel like girls who like tend to get a little touchy touchier feelier if they drink a little bit. It's just me. You know that's me.

02:52:55 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 2:

I have never once been groped by you. No I don't groped but I'm saying I get very okay. Girls like

02:53:01 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 4:

to kiss. Maybe. No. Girls make out. They make out when they're

02:53:04 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm saying I feel like girls are more just like. No we're lovey.

02:53:07 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 1:

We're touchier. We're more like we appreciate you and i also think some of it is i'll protect you from these creepy dudes at

02:53:13 - 02:53:17 | Speaker 4:

this bar by hanging all over you so they can't what about the creepy guys that are are hitting

02:53:17 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 3:

on their friends we don't have to worry about them at that point is this the same person that's

02:53:23 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 4:

doing this to you no it's different it's totally different i had one guy one time we're sitting we're literally sitting at a bar this is no joke we're at a bar we're sitting there and every five seconds he kept grabbing my leg he like he would talk to me and he would go yeah you know what i'm talking about and he would grab my leg and at first at first when he's like grabbing my he would he would grab like right above my kneecap and after he grabbed me right above my kneecap the first time i was a little startled i was like oh okay well that kind of feels okay and then and then i stopped and next thing i know that he's hugging it was like hugging and cuddling and i have been told that i would be a great you know gay person's beer okay you know who bear a bear

02:54:03 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 3:

What is that?

02:54:04 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 4:

Like the big, the fat guy in the relationship, the big hairy guy.

02:54:08 - 02:54:12 | Speaker 1:

I'm the bear in the relationship. I think of Cubs that are guys that are just a little overweight.

02:54:12 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:54:13 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, a little bit younger, a little bit less hairy.

02:54:16 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 4:

All right.

02:54:16 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 1:

Maybe trimmed up and then bigger.

02:54:17 - 02:54:46 | Speaker 4:

Cav, you could be a bear. I'm going to let you be the, do you. I don't know. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Hi, Jessica. How are you? hi good how are you good i explain this to me why is it that when guys drink even girls when they drink all of a sudden they they go from being heterosexual to bisexual

02:54:46 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 5:

mojo my mom always raised me to know that a drunk mind reveals a sober heart so i believe that people who kind of lean towards that already it just comes out when Thank you.

02:55:00 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 1:

drunk i had a an ex who was um i thought completely straight but when he would get drunk he would start talking about how hot certain guys were and um he insisted you know that he was straight but i don't know he started talking about dudes more often when he was drinking

02:55:16 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 3:

and i think i like wiener in the closet yeah that so maybe so do you think it brings them out of the closet when they're drinking could the guy just come out of the closet please

02:55:28 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 1:

i think so i feel like i mean i'm 100 straight if i drink i will not exhibit any type of um gay behavior but uh if some people are they might you know that's just the way i feel about it hold

02:55:44 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 3:

on a second this text is great one seven three four goes it's not gay it's homie sexual

02:55:49 - 02:55:50 | Unknown:

Okay, I like that.

02:55:51 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 3:

I like that.

02:55:52 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 1:

I like that.

02:55:53 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 3:

This other text is a great one, too. 313 says, Kev's not a bear, he's a cub.

02:55:59 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 4:

That's what Megan was saying. Do you think these guys would take you there if you allowed it to go further? I don't know.

02:56:08 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Are you comfortable playing the role? I honestly, can I be quite honest with you? Yeah. I wasn't attracted to them. If I was attracted to them, I don't know. Like, if it's Tom Brady, you know, maybe I'd take my clothes off for him. I don't know. How committed to this bit are you? I'm not. But it does find, I find it interesting, women do this a lot. And I don't know, Jessica, are you this way? When you're out with your girlfriends, or maybe you have girlfriends that are like this, girls kiss other girls when they're drinking, and they won't do it if they're sober. Like, you don't see a girl start, oh, let's hold on. Next thing you know, they're making out at the beginning of the night. It's at the end of the night that that happens, right?

02:56:54 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I've seen it happen. My friends are like that, but I can't. I just can't do it. I can't bring myself to do it. And I have nothing against it, but it is not my thing. And so, like, I'm not like that. So I 100% know that it has to be, you have to have some sort of open-mindedness to it that I just don't have.

02:57:12 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think what ends up happening is what you're talking about. You can't bring yourself to it. I think that there's there's no attraction there. So you don't find yourself wanting to do it. But I do think that the other thing is, if you're so drunk, you're wondering, what did you do at the end of the night? You know what I mean? Like your inhibitions, your sexual inhibitions definitely come into play. Like when you're drinking, like no offense.

02:57:38 - 02:57:38 | Speaker 2:

Is that what you're saying?

02:57:38 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 3:

No offense to women who are maybe not incredibly gorgeous, but sometimes I actually find everybody in the bar beautiful.

02:57:48 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 4:

I do. Drunk goggles are real thing.

02:57:49 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I see girls that are at the bar that at the beginning of the night had no interest at all in. At the end of the night, I'm like, hey, whatever. You know, one of those type of things. So, all right. Well, thank you.

02:58:06 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 4:

Meet me in the bathroom. You ever had sex in the bathroom?

02:58:08 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 3:

club. Have you really? Have you done that? Restaurants, for sure. You've done this, Kev? Yeah, I've had

02:58:14 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 4:

some times in my life. Like, where are we talking?

02:58:16 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 3:

What kind of places? What kind of bars?

02:58:19 - 02:58:23 | Speaker 4:

Cosmos on Woodward. You mean Comos? Comos.

02:58:23 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 2:

Or Comos. Yeah, my fault. Cosmos. You've got their pizza.

02:58:26 - 02:58:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was good night. Wait a second, isn't Comos also a gay hang, too?

02:58:32 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yes and no. I didn't know that. It's a gay fave. but they also have great pizza even if you're straight you're allowed to go there that's a gay place I didn't know

02:58:44 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know for the pizza

02:58:45 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 3:

and then I took my shirt off chill out textures by the way that are texting in all these people don't want to pick up our phone calls because they said that they're too embarrassed that their friends will hear them right now

02:59:02 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 1:

that cannot be real

02:59:05 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 2:

no I think it's real

02:59:07 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 4:

Wait, which one?

02:59:08 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 2:

The 313. The guy who says he craves penis. Yep. He's straight.

02:59:13 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 3:

All right. Boy, use the word. Is this 313?

02:59:16 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 2:

You can't read it. You can't read that. Can you?

02:59:19 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 3:

My whole 35 years of his life.

02:59:21 - 02:59:22 | Speaker 2:

I guess maybe you can. You can.

02:59:23 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 3:

I've not acted on it, but I have a major craving, but I'm scared to act on it sometimes because I don't know how it would actually feel. Okay. Go live your life, man. But it's only when he drinks, though. That's the thing. It's only when he drinks that it happens.

02:59:39 - 02:59:51 | Speaker 4:

It comes from somewhere, man. Like, I feel like if you're doing that, you have an emotion that's lying dormant, and the alcohol is just unlocking what's already inside of you. It's not like it's just coming from out of nowhere.

02:59:51 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 2:

Somebody just texted in, sexuality is a spectrum, and we're all on it somewhere. And I really do believe that. It is a spectrum.

02:59:57 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

02:59:58 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

You're not, you know.

03:00:00 - 03:00:24 | Speaker 1:

yeah you know what it's not it's not clear cut like i am this or i am this like yes you are but i do i do believe that that sexuality is a spectrum like the the girl who's like i am 100 percent straight i mean i would say that same thing but i've always i've also found girls attractive before so technically i'm not 100 straight do you know what it's like i don't know

03:00:24 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 2:

but does that not make you straight because you find them attractive are you going to act upon

03:00:28 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 1:

that attraction right yeah but that's what i'm saying it's a spectrum we got to go because kevin and i are going to como's we'll be right back they do have the best pizza i mean i'm open for pizza

03:00:37 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 2:

no no we love our mojo back to mojo in the morning it's the second date update on mojo in the morning why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date we're gonna find out right now steven's getting ghosted steven how you doing hey doing okay i guess all right So how long has it been since you guys talked?

03:01:01 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 3:

Four days.

03:01:03 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so that's not horrible. I mean, we've had worse than that.

03:01:06 - 03:01:10 | Speaker 1:

But if you had a good date, four days is eternity.

03:01:11 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we were talking every day.

03:01:13 - 03:01:36 | Speaker 2:

Really? You know what? That is actually bad. Have you guys had these where you meet somebody and you just end up talking to them so much, it becomes like a I can't even not be around them. I think most relationships turn into that. And then when you go four days with hearing nothing from them, like not even a call back, right?

03:01:38 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, radio silence.

03:01:40 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 2:

Alright, we're going to find out what's going on. On the phone with us is Andy. Andy, will you say hello to Steven?

03:01:49 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, sure.

03:01:51 - 03:01:53 | Speaker 2:

He's on the phone. He can hear you right now. Say hello.

03:01:55 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hello, Stephen. Hey.

03:02:01 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's not as warm. Are you guys sure you were talking nonstop with each other before this? Stephen?

03:02:12 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, I was listening mostly.

03:02:16 - 03:02:21 | Speaker 2:

Wait, hold on. So he was doing the talking. What's going on? And Andy, is everything okay?

03:02:23 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm fine.

03:02:26 - 03:02:32 | Speaker 2:

Did you, first off, what did you guys do the last time that you guys were with each other? Were you guys together and did you guys go out?

03:02:34 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. We walked around and then we had some pizza.

03:02:43 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So that way, was that like a date that you guys went on? You guys chose to just go walking around and having pizza, Andy?

03:02:50 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I thought it was a nice time. I mean, he, it just wasn't really, like, a very, like, thought out. He sent me an address that, like, wasn't to any, like, particular location, but it was really close to, like, this nicer restaurant. So I thought we were going there. and so like i dressed up and had like heels on and a skirt and then he showed up late and we

03:03:21 - 03:03:58 | Speaker 2:

just like walked around downtown wait so you he gave you just an address to meet you're thinking okay there's a restaurant there when you guys finally got together first off why were you late steven oh my uh the battery died in my car okay so you she showed up late did he call you at least sandy and say i'm gonna be running a little late no you didn't call okay so when he was rushing yeah i was frazzled so when he finally showed up were you in the restaurant or were you just

03:03:58 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 3:

still waiting in your car waiting for him i was just waiting in my car okay he finally shows up

03:04:04 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 2:

you get out of your car you guys see each other and he doesn't take you into the restaurant Where did he take you?

03:04:13 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 3:

We just like walked around and I just, which that would have been fine if I like had been prepared for that. I didn't know that that's what we were doing. And I just feel like he also didn't take the hint that I'm dressed nice and he has me walking around for a while in my high heels.

03:04:37 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 2:

That is kind of an interesting date. Steven, you said to her, hey, we're going to meet here, but you didn't say what you guys were going to do?

03:04:46 - 03:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I wanted it to be a surprise.

03:04:49 - 03:04:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's a hell of a surprise. What did you think, though, when you noticed that she was all dressed up and she didn't look like she was wearing anything that she could walk on?

03:04:58 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 3:

I thought she looked nice.

03:05:00 - 03:05:02 | Speaker 8:

So you still took her walking around.

03:05:04 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I always see women in heels.

03:05:05 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 8:

But what about the food? You said something about pizza or whatever? What was that all about?

03:05:10 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we got pizza for dinner.

03:05:12 - 03:05:13 | Speaker 8:

Okay.

03:05:13 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 3:

But you didn't sit down to eat the pizza. It was like grab and go.

03:05:20 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, we sat for a minute.

03:05:21 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

03:05:22 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 2:

And then I was like, do you want to finish this and keep walking? I love walking.

03:05:25 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But if this was going to be a surprise, why not say, wear something comfortable and meet me. Yeah, I mean, he couldn't even text

03:05:33 - 03:05:44 | Speaker 3:

her when his car died. So that's where I think you went really wrong, by the way. That was super rude. Just side note. You should have just let her know because she would have probably had compassion for the fact that your battery died and you were going to be late.

03:05:44 - 03:05:54 | Speaker 8:

I get the idea that this relationship that started with these guys talking nonstop is now going to nothing because I wouldn't talk to them either.

03:05:54 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 3:

See, I don't think the date was bad. But I think, like, I, like, Steven like to walk around and just like grab a drink here grab something here grab I love that that would not bother me whatsoever I feel like it was just huge miscommunication that you gave her the address of a nice restaurant so I would like Andy have assumed like oh I probably need to dress up a little bit because this is where we're going so I don't think your date was bad or a bad idea, but you really misconveyed, is that a word? Miscommunicated. Miscommunicated. I can't think today. It's freaking Monday. No, it's all right. You really miscommunicated what the date was going to be like for her.

03:06:37 - 03:06:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just kind of wanted to go with the flow, I guess.

03:06:40 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 4:

And I love that, but you need to let her know. You can go with the flow with expectations. Right.

03:06:47 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 1:

the address I sent is a good place to park that's why I picked that address I usually park there I know but if you didn't say

03:06:57 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 3:

hey hey you know this is a good place to park the assumption is that you are going to that place to eat

03:07:06 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 8:

Chelsea wants to comment Chelsea what's up

03:07:10 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 5:

yeah so I could understand the whole you know yeah that might have been a little bit of a miscommunication on his part but she's grown she could have opened her mouth and been like hey like i'm getting kind of tired i'm hungry like you know what's the plan for the rest of the morning anything that's not a good enough reason to ghost somebody and she's been kind of overly

03:07:29 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 8:

standoff see i i agree with you 90 of the time where it's like people at least just pick up the phone you're a grown person he's the one that should have been the grown person and said

03:07:40 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 5:

i understand that i agree with that too i wouldn't call him back either

03:07:45 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 8:

after he's late for the date.

03:07:47 - 03:07:58 | Speaker 5:

He's like, you know what? You know, this wasn't for me. This was nice. What girl doesn't want to get to know a guy? And I feel like that's what he was trying to do is get to know her. And she, I don't know.

03:07:58 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 8:

This is why I say all the time to the girls on the show, I go, I feel so bad for you guys. This is us guys. Thank you. This is awful.

03:08:07 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 4:

But Chelsea, don't you also think a little part of that is, especially on the first few dates, I'm worried about coming off as like high maintenance or hard to get a lot of weight or a breast. Right, but I think her voicing, the fact that if she needed a breast.

03:08:24 - 03:08:28 | Speaker 8:

She wasn't hymenes that night, though. Wait, Megan, let's see what you were trying to say.

03:08:28 - 03:08:38 | Speaker 4:

If she voices that she's very uncomfortable and doesn't want to do that and doesn't want to go for a walk and wants to sit down at a restaurant, then it's going to come off as... But there's nice ways to say that, though.

03:08:38 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 5:

If you can convey that in a nice way, that wouldn't be hymenes. I'm sure he would have been like, oh I'm sorry let's go do this or let's go do that

03:08:45 - 03:08:57 | Speaker 8:

you know what I mean? She played along she was a good sport about the whole thing I wouldn't call him back either I don't know I don't know Ellie what's up?

03:08:57 - 03:09:17 | Speaker 7:

Hey I just feel like like you said miscommunication why didn't anyone ask hey what are we doing tonight? Is it that hard to say like oh hey what are we doing tonight? Obviously there was the assumption because of the address but i don't think it was that hard to just double check yeah by the way this is the

03:09:17 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 8:

first time that i've ever heard a guy do something that i didn't agree with that every woman is agreeing with the guy it's wild like usually i'm like oh this guy seems like a nice guy and everybody's like he's an a you know hole uh and we'll set it but um would y'all be mad at that

03:09:33 - 03:09:38 | Speaker 3:

the only thing i think he was an a-hole for was for not calling and telling her he was gonna be late. I don't think the date was bad.

03:09:39 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 8:

Honestly, it seemed kind of spontaneous.

03:09:42 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 6:

Can I add something? Sure, Andy. To this? So I agree with the callers. I could have spoken up and communicated, and I do give Stephen credit for communicating with me at the end of the date to vent.

03:10:00 - 03:10:05 | Speaker 7:

Venmo me for the tip for the pizza. Wait, what did you say?

03:10:05 - 03:10:09 | Speaker 6:

There's a twist. He Venmo'd you?

03:10:11 - 03:10:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, he wanted me to tip him. He wanted me to pay for the tip and Venmo him the money after the date.

03:10:18 - 03:10:19 | Speaker 6:

Is that right, Steven?

03:10:21 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I covered the tip. So I was like, hey, if you could just send me half of that.

03:10:26 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 7:

yep all right man her feet hurt and her wallet hurts i see why you were ghosting i just want to ask something but it's gonna be no no go go you can't say that come on you gotta do it finances still for now should we be dating his battery i thought you're always supposed to go

03:10:45 - 03:10:55 | Speaker 8:

dutch in the beginning until then you start picking restaurants because then it's like if you pick the restaurant you're supposed to pay right well you didn't pick anything you picked

03:10:55 - 03:11:10 | Speaker 6:

a parking lot you picked a parking lot and a pizza place but that probably should i think you guys should go on another date with each other out of all the second dates i think we should try to get a positive out of this one how about another date i'd be interested i could

03:11:10 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 8:

she said um that's a no what if he told you what to wear like comfortable or nice i think you should always dress comfortably in life

03:11:20 - 03:11:37 | Speaker 5:

this is mojo in the morning oh my lord we are uh going to have more on that second date update

Aiden Hutchinson underwent successful surgery to repair tibia and fibula at the Baylor White Medical Center in Irvine, Texas last night. Hutchinson will return to Detroit this week and is expected to make a full recovery. There is no timeline on the return of his play, though. So that's the latest from the Lions, an official statement from them on his health. But the surgery went well, which is great. So we're very happy that that went well.

03:12:54 - 03:12:58 | Speaker 8:

And now we find out that it wasn't just a fractured tibia. It was his fibula as well.
