00:02:57 - 00:03:27 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:27 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 6:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show good to have you guys here with us good show today it's wednesday which means we've got five lies tell your mom coming up this morning and a high schooler going to homecoming this weekend. Mom thinking that she's not going to go, but it's a last minute. I finally got a date. The date is with the ex that mom's not happy with. You'll hear that coming up. You've got to listen at 7. Also, second date update, the 5 at 6.55. Shannon with a lot of big breaking dirty news this morning and a whole bunch more. So make sure you're listening. And the prizes are great, too. We're going to give away those Justin Timberlake tickets in just moments. Actually, less than seven, eight minutes or so like that. We'll give you a chance to win with the back in the day. Just guess the year from the three clues that we're going to have for you. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. Hump day? Yeah. Yeah, it scared me. Wow. We got him hard to flutter to that one. All right. Shannon, Shannon last night did something. By the way, I always hate when you preface it the way that you preface it because it makes me look like I am not a cultured type person.

00:04:56 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 3:

What, that it would be your worst nightmare?

00:04:59 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Right.

00:05:01 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

I thought about this because I was so excited for what I did last night. Since I said, sorry, my allergies are raging this morning. I cannot breathe.

00:05:13 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 1:

You yesterday, when you were doing the dirty a couple times, I found myself going, oh my

00:05:17 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 2:

God, it is that time. I'm so sorry. I sound terrible. But I was so excited for this thing that I did last night with my sister. And the whole time I was driving there, I'm like, Mojo would literally rather jump off of a roof. that I'd be doing. This is like the opposite. So my little sister Jacqueline and I went to, you probably saw if you follow me on Instagram, I'm at CupcakeShada, by the way. Worst Instagram name ever.

00:05:43 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 1:

By the way, real quick before you tell us what you did. Why do girls who have sick voices, because my wife is also not feeling well and has a little bit of a sick voice. Girls who have sick voices turn guys on. Have you ever noticed that?

00:05:55 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

Maybe.

00:05:56 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

No? You don't think so? What is it about the sick voice?

00:05:59 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 2:

West did wake me up in the middle of the night.

00:06:00 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 1:

What is it about the sick voice? What are you hearing? It's like sick voice. It's like, I don't know if you want to come. I don't know if you want to. Like, Chelsea's got this thing where she calls and she goes, hi, how you doing? I'm like, oh, my God. Hold on a second.

00:06:12 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

Whoa.

00:06:12 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:06:13 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't feel great, nor am I trying to sound sick sexy. You're turning mojo on right now. This is just, oh, stop. I need to get out of my nose.

00:06:22 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 1:

It's not when you clear your nose that it turns on, but the other part.

00:06:27 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 2:

I got my roll of toilet paper in front of me because this radio station is too cheap to buy us Kleenex. You want some DayQuil? Yes. You know, I got a pharmacy. I will take it all. I will take it all. Anyway, so last night, my sister and I went to a fall floral workshop at a place that some of my, I'm going to call them my friends because I want to be friends with them so bad, but they own a event planning company called Inez and Marie Events. And so we went and joined some other girls. There were probably like 12 of us total. And we made these beautiful fall floral arrangements. So I learned how to all the tips and tricks of making good professional floral arrangements. And we drank wine and we had cider and donuts and snacks. And we watched You've Got Mail, one of my favorite romantic comedies ever in the whole entire world. and that was our night and it was just absolutely lovely you haven't gotten me at all like i know really it's like a fun activity and entertainment and snacks that's like a win win win hold on you got me but you ain't got me it was like a cozy fall night in all right hold on hold on tell that story one more time what'd you guys do last time why what are you gonna do no just tell the Don't trust him. We learned how... Keep going, keep going. Do you want my inhaler for the true effect of this? My nebulizer that I had to do this morning?

00:08:00 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 1:

What? Everything sounds better with the sick voice. It does.

00:08:03 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

We made beautiful fall floral arrangements. I learned how to use wire, chicken wire.

00:08:12 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:08:13 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Chicken. And I learned how to open up tight roses.

00:08:17 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hold on a second.

00:08:19 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 2:

The trick is you blow on them.

00:08:21 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Kev and I are now interested.

00:08:22 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 2:

You blow on them, and it helps open them up.

00:08:26 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 1:

By the way, no, that does not sound like a night that I would want to have. Like, that sounds like miserable. It sounds like torture.

00:08:35 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

You know what's so funny is this is how I know Wes and I are so compatible. He was like, why couldn't guys come? Are you kidding me? No, he is, but he loves rom-coms just like I do. And he's into all that. So when I brought the thing home, he was like, oh, my gosh, it's beautiful. Such a good husband. Either he was lying or we really are meant to be. He was trying to get booty, dude. Which, I mean, yeah.

00:09:00 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 1:

You can tell you guys are still newlyweds. In about a year and a half from now, he would be like, now I'll stay home and I'll watch the game. You know, it would be one of those. I'm not interested. I don't know. It was really fun. Well, it does.

00:09:13 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

It's a fun day with my sister, too. It was something fun to do with my sister. Although I felt like a nerd because she wanted to go out and grab like a drink and some food afterwards at this new place called the Oak Parker, maybe an Oak Park. Anyway, the Oak Parker in Oak Park. The Oak Parker has to be an Oak Parker. The Oak Parker. But I was like, it's 8.50. It's getting really late. I think I'm just going to go home and go to bed. I'm such a dud.

00:09:37 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 1:

Plus, you're not feeling great, too. And you're not feeling good.

00:09:41 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

My brother did that last night, too. He's like, you want to go get dinner? I want you so bad I just know it's not a good idea what is it about certain things that girls

00:09:51 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

find like to be fun like I to me any kind of craft store to me is one of those like I I have no interest in walking around a craft store or you know

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 3:

Learning how to make a floral arrangement.

00:10:01 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 4:

Would you take, like, a glass-blowing class, Mojo?

00:10:05 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

I would, only if the people teaching it were naked. Bro, glass-blowing is...

00:10:09 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 4:

That seems very, very dangerous.

00:10:11 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 1:

Glass-blowing is fire. Really? Bro, they got it. Literally. I binge-watched. They got it on Netflix. I did, too. Lucy and I watched it.

00:10:18 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 4:

Dude, you got to watch the Cornell, or the... Yeah, I think it's the Cornell Museum. They do, like, three-hour, like, live videos of masters making stuff. It's very interesting.

00:10:29 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 2:

Here's my question to Megan and Shannon and Lydia and KP and stuff. What is it that guys do that they love to do that you guys just don't get? Fantasy football.

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

No. Although you love fantasy. But to me, fantasy football is one of them.

00:10:46 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

Is it? Like, I'm not a deer hunter. So if you said, hey, sitting in a deer blind for hours and not actually get to shoot anything, I would probably say that's okay.

00:10:54 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 4:

How dare you ask us and then give the most obvious answer that I wanted to say? How dare you?

00:11:01 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 2:

Well, Megan, what would be?

00:11:03 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 4:

Probably deer hunting. I don't understand sitting in a blind for so long in the cold, quietly. I'm sorry.

00:11:10 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 3:

No cell phone.

00:11:11 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Ice fishing. How is that fun?

00:11:13 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Yeah, that's a great one.

00:11:15 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 2:

The guys that sit and they have their own tent in the middle of the ice. First off, how do you know that ice isn't going to break? Correct. I mean, if it broke, it'd probably be the most exciting thing that happens to you when you're ice fishing.

00:11:28 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 4:

I just don't understand being miserable during your activity. Like, even, and I love football. I don't understand any NFL team that has an outdoor stadium. Like, why do I want to be in the rain or in the snow? Yeah.

00:11:39 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 2:

But that's because we've raised a bunch of indoor pussies here.

00:11:44 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Good. We should have. Air conditioning was invented for a reason. No, I kind of like it, though.

00:11:51 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 1:

It brings you back to your childhood because when you were a kid growing up or when you played Little League or you matriculated in the high school, you didn't have an indoor stadium.

00:12:01 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 4:

That's early. Is that a real word?

00:12:03 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 1:

Matriculate? You said matriculate.

00:12:05 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

Is it?

00:12:06 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 1:

I've never heard that word before.

00:12:07 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 4:

Really?

00:12:08 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

To the Google.

00:12:10 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Kevin and I went to the Michigan State game in East Lansing last year, and it was freezing in that game. Remember that, Kevin? We lasted probably a quarter.

00:12:19 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, it's not a fun environment if you're not in the game. Wait, wouldn't that make you then the P word?

00:12:27 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:12:27 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 4:

A little P word?

00:12:28 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for that saying it. We are big old P's, yes. Is that word? Big P. Here's what I would like to do, is that we all have to do something. I think golf is one of my favorite things, and there's a lot of women that don't like golf.

00:12:43 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, suit me.

00:12:44 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:45 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 3:

Damn. That was so dramatic.

00:12:47 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 2:

I'll go make a floral bouquet with you if you come out and play nine holes of golf.

00:12:53 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 1:

No. Women who can sit there and knit, like knitting and quilting.

00:12:59 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

Crocheting is fine.

00:13:00 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 1:

Bro, that's not it for me.

00:13:02 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 4:

But it's cute.

00:13:03 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Helena, what is it that you say guys do that is the most boring thing ever?

00:13:10 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 4:

Watching golf on TV. Yes. I would rather watch paint dry, honestly. It's a great way to get a nap.

00:13:17 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 2:

I think that when golf is on TV, if you really want to fall asleep, it's the most wonderful thing to fall asleep to. Yeah, that's probably true. Yeah. Try it. Try it. Like a Sunday afternoon, I'll turn it on, and the announcer's talking all soft and stuff like that, you know?

00:13:33 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 4:

That's a bad sport. Golf? If people turn it on to take a nap, that's a bad sport. That's my grandma.

00:13:41 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 1:

She can watch anything.

00:13:43 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 2:

What is your grandma usually watching to fall asleep or hanging out?

00:13:48 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 1:

She's just period. She watches all sports. She watches golf, like religiously. I don't know how she does it. Does she ever play golf or she just watches it? No, she just watches golf. She knows everything about it, but for my entire life, she just watched golf. She watches all sports, though. It doesn't matter what it is. If it's competitive, grandma watching it.

00:14:06 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It's funny how so many women, you know, like Megan was talking about the fantasy football. So many more women I know do fantasy football, and when it first started, fantasy football was like to women's death, right? They lost their guys for an entire season. Now more women are doing fantasy football, like you, Megan, that are into it.

00:14:26 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 4:

I was always a Lions fan. Once I started getting into fantasy football, which totally lured me in with a chance of winning a lot of money, and that was it. I had no interest in doing it other than trying to win $600. It got me into more football. Like, I started watching other teams that weren't the Lions just to, like, see how my team was doing.

00:14:47 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

And I remember a year or so ago, two years ago, when Pickleball started, I remember, Shannon, you were kind of poo-pooing that. You tried it this year. You loved it. Oh, my God.

00:14:56 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 3:

I am addicted to it. That is the.

00:14:59 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 2:

Say it. It is so dumb, you guys. It is so dumb. Now, I will tell you the cutest thing I've ever seen. A couple of days ago, I was driving in this neighborhood, and there was a couple who were playing pickleball with their own setup in their driveway. And I was like, that's very cute. You could be inside watching Jeopardy! And said, you're outside, moving around, getting an exercise, and it looked like they were having fun. Their age, about 87. So if that is your ideal demographic for the sport, not that ideal.

00:15:28 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 3:

Dude, the pickleball courts in my neighborhood, they took the tennis courts that are like Little Park and turned them into pickleball courts. I keep telling Lydia, come sit. It's like the hottest guys. And there are loads of them that come, like 20s. But all of the guys there are married. I mean, I didn't sit there and examine, but they're cute.

00:15:50 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 6:

By the way, again, Shannon with a sick voice saying pickleball courts. I want you to listen to that. Pickleball courts.

00:15:58 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 4:

00:17:21 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, Kendrick Lamar. was the biggest winner at this year's BET Hip Hop Awards taking home eight trophies he actually won in every single category he was nominated Megan Thee Stallion led the way with 12 nominations she left totally empty handed whoa I know other winners included Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 for Hip Hop Album of the Year Sexy Red for Best Breakthrough Hip Hop Artist and 50 Cent for Hustler of the Year Travis Scott accepted the I Am Hip Hop Award

00:20:29 - 00:20:53 | Speaker 1:

I come from Houston, Texas, and we don't have a lot of billboards and we don't have a lot of big advertisements to try to get us on our way. And I just want to let everybody know where you come from doesn't really matter. Just what goes on in your brain can take you to the next level and beyond. And with true focus and true drive and with real surroundings, you can go wherever you want to go.

00:20:55 - 00:22:05 | Speaker 3:

Should 50 Cent have won the happiest man in hip hop award? Is that a real award? It should be. You're just bestowing it upon him? Ever since this whole diddy thing went down, nobody is happier than 50 Cent. Yeah. 84-year-old Al Pacino doesn't live with his 16-month-old son. Remember, he's a new daddy. But he says they text each other to keep in touch. Okay. Just think about that. Sure. Speaking with the BBC about his new autobiography, the veteran actor shared that he's been loving being a new dad to his son, Roman, whom he co-parents with his ex-girlfriend, Nora Fala. But the Godfather alum said that becoming a dad again has been extraordinary. And he's found a few things that the two can do together since they don't see each other every day, like texting. Again, his son is 16 months old, okay? Since he and Nora are no longer together, he said in the interview, he does text me from time to time as a way to communicate. He said they also play the harmonica together. Do you see who Nora is now with? Yeah, another actor.

00:22:05 - 00:22:08 | Speaker 4:

No, with Bill Maher. Oh, that's right.

00:22:08 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 3:

It was Bill Maher. I saw her out. Yeah.

00:22:09 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 4:

So Bill Maher from HBO and stuff like that. Yeah. Although he's a little younger than Al Pacino. He's not 84. Yeah. I mean, I think he might be in his 60s. That might be young for her. You know, I don't know. That's pretty crazy, though, that Al Pacino. I can't even picture Al Pacino on a phone texting.

00:22:27 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 3:

He's 68. Yeah, he's old too, Bill Maher. Yeah, he's 68.

00:22:33 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

68 is a lot different than 84 though. I think when you're 68, you don't need as many dick pills as you do when you're 84.

00:22:43 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 3:

And an update to the story about that dog. That sweet dog found chained to a fence in the middle of the rising flood water during Hurricane Milton. We talked about this story. A Florida man admitted to leaving that dog tied to the fence on the side of I-75 as he evacuated before the storm is now facing an aggravated animal cruelty charge, as he said. Authorities identified the dog's owner as 23-year-old Giovanni Garcia. Investigators say Giovanni told them that he left his dog on the side of the road because he couldn't find anybody to take the dog. The dog, now named Trooper, is safe in a new home. So happy ending to that story, thankfully. For all of today's Dirty, check out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:24:46 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 4:

Who are you most excited to see?

00:24:48 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 5:

Um, probably Jack Harlow.

00:24:51 - 00:24:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's going to be great. It's going to be really good.

00:24:52 - 00:24:53 | Speaker 5:

00:24:53 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 4:

All of them. Yeah, that'll be good.

00:24:55 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 3:

By the way, she's got a new song out that we've been playing, too.

00:25:00 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 1:

I've been noticing that. Really? Yeah. Yeah. I see some jingle balls artists, a lot of them loaded up during the day, and you can listen to all of our stations for a chance to win tickets throughout the day. We'll be right back with more on that.

00:25:16 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 4:

Know some crap about some people? Win some freak crap and crap. The 5 at 6.55 comes up in minutes on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55.

00:25:29 - 00:25:48 | Speaker 1:

We got a new champion in the 5 at 655. Put your hands together, clap, do whatever you got to do. Stand up, scream. Aaron, what's up, Aaron? Hi. Aaron, let's get to know you a little bit. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

00:25:49 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. Well, my name is Aaron. I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and I work as an executive assistant.

00:25:57 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 1:

I like it. And do we like that? Do we like our boss? Are we always happy?

00:26:03 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Shout out, Tom. All right.

00:26:08 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 1:

All right. I like that, Aaron.

00:26:10 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 2:

Come on, Tom. That's good.

00:26:11 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 1:

By the way, do you get any perks as an executive assistant? Is this one of those bosses that has private airplanes and flies across the world doing fun things?

00:26:21 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 2:

Not like that. It is a footwear company, so we do get a lot of really great shoes. Oh, my God. What company?

00:26:27 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 4:

Shout out the company.

00:26:29 - 00:26:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, would we know the company?

00:26:31 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 2:

The company is Wolverine Worldwide. So shout out to Wolverine and some of our brands. The Wolverine brand, Caterpillar, Hush Puppy. Hush Puppies?

00:26:43 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 1:

00:27:36 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 1:

00:27:39 - 00:27:53 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say popsicles. Yeah. Apple juice. Popsicle, grape crackers. Honestly, even one of those gowns where the butt is open in the back. Oh, grippy socks. Sorry, I get very excited for a hospital thing.

00:27:54 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 1:

Bedpans, grippy socks, all that stuff. We'll go right to the drugs. All right, so Alex, five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Question number one, the Victoria's Secret fashion show went down last night. Boring, but they made that thing as boring as they possibly could. Model Gigi Hadid said that her actor boyfriend wasn't there to support her, but was watching at home from their couch. Who is he?

00:28:23 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. She's not with fame anymore.

00:28:26 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 1:

Who is she with?

00:28:27 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 3:

Three, two, one.

00:28:31 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 1:

All right. We're passing that one.

00:28:32 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

I have no clue.

00:28:33 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 1:

Question number two. We'll go to that one. Kristen Bell admits in a new interview that she snuck a dirty joke into one of the songs for the first Frozen movie. What character does she voice in those movies?

00:28:48 - 00:28:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Elsa?

00:28:51 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. It was announced yesterday that Tom Brady has officially bought a stake in which NFL team? 30 seconds.

00:29:03 - 00:29:03 | Unknown:

Three.

00:29:04 - 00:29:06 | Speaker 3:

Two. Two. Two. He used to play for.

00:29:07 - 00:29:07 | Unknown:

One.

00:29:08 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Packers.

00:29:10 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Singer-songwriter John Mayer is celebrating a birthday today. Which of these celebs did John not date? This is going to be a hard one to come up with because he's dated a lot. A, Taylor Swift, B, Sabrina Carpenter, or C, Jessica Simpson? Sabrina Carpenter. And question number five, Justin Timberlake has apparently been bending over backwards for his wife to make up for his recent DWI arrest. What actress is he married to?

00:29:44 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. three, two, one

00:29:52 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

we'll still take the drugs we will still take them let's bring the chant back from a soundproof area it was a struggle for you

00:29:59 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

it was

00:30:00 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 1:

Because Alex, you only got one right. Jesus Christ, I met some dumb bastards in my time, but you outdo them all. At least I got one. You called in, Alex. You called in. That's okay. All right, here we go. Aaron, question number one. The Victoria's Secret fashion show went down last night. Model Gigi Hadid said that her actor boyfriend wasn't there to support her, but was watching from their home on their couch. Who is he? Bradley Cooper. Yes. One to nothing. Question number two. Kristen Bell admits in a new interview that she snuck a dirty joke into one of the songs for the first Frozen movie. Which character does she voice?

00:30:42 - 00:30:42 | Unknown:

Elsa.

00:30:43 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 1:

No, both of you guys said that. Anna. Yeah, stays one to nothing. Question number three. It was announced yesterday that Tom Brady has officially bought a stake in which NFL team? The Raiders. Yes. Tooting nothing. Did you know that with that, he cannot, ready for this? He cannot criticize a referee at all during his broadcast for Fox because owners cannot criticize referees publicly. And he cannot attend practices at all of opposing teams that are playing the Raiders if he does a game for the Raiders. I'm surprised he was even allowed to do it. Yeah. Why would you do this during a $400 million contract? I don't know. Because he's probably making more money now as a stake owner, too. And he cannot come back as a player, so he cannot come back and play for even that team. Question number four. Singer-songwriter John Mayer is celebrating a birthday today. Which of these celebs did John not date? A, Taylor Swift, B, Sabrina Carpenter, or C, Jessica Simpson? Sabrina Carpenter. Yes. Three to one. And the last question, Justin Timberlake has apparently been bending over backwards for his wife to make up for the last arrest that he had, that DWI arrest. What actress is he married to? Jessica Biel. You got it. Yeah, good one. Nice. Congratulations. Two in a row. All right, Alex, no worries. We've had a lot of people that come get a little nervous and then flounder in the five at 655, but come back and play sometime, okay? All right. Thank you. Got a parting gift for you. How about some free gas? $50 free gas from Kool-Aid. Congratulations. Enjoy. It's Mojo in the mornings. Five is 6.55. Before we do the five lives, tell your mom, which, by the way, is a high school student that's going to tell mom that she's going to homecoming with the ex that mom was not too happy about, which song should we play? You guys want to do that right now? A little throwback song? Let's go. Which one? Should we go A? Flo Rida, low. Yeah. Low, low, low, low, low. Should we go B, Gold Digger? Or C, Jim Class Heroes, Adam Levine, Stereo Hearts. uh oh which one should we play a b or c which one do you guys want to hear we'll start with uh let's go kev first kev man you know i love yay but i feel like flow rider would blend in perfectly with the high school homecoming vibe so i'm gonna go with low flow rider okay one vote for that

00:33:40 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

uh shannon i'm going to see stereo hearts okay megan um i'll go with a okay two for low what do we got Zach? I will also go with A. Oh, my God. We got three. One more vote for that and it goes over the edge. What about you, KP, Lydia? I have an itch in my brain for Adam Levine. Okay. All right. Scratch it. What about you, Lydia? Give me some flow riding. All right. My vote never matters. Don't worry about it. Okay. Lil Flo Rida Actually not bad I probably would have picked Stereo Hearts also But I can tolerate this It's Mojo in the Morning Five Lies Next Mojo in the Morning Show We'll do Five Lies Coming up in a second Hey Tanisha what's going on Hi how are you We're doing great. What's up? Hi. I just wanted to give a shout-out to my husband, Cordero Smith. He helped build you guys' office in Furmington, and now he's building the one downtown. Are you serious? Yes. 00:35:00 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm trying to win him some Jingle Ball tickets, but she told me I might can't do that because that's only a certain time. But I just wanted to give him a shout-out.

00:35:06 - 00:35:12 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. Here's the deal. What is he part of? Like, what does he do as part of our bill?

00:35:12 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 3:

00:36:54 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 5:

00:38:12 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 3:

And he will do it for you.

00:38:14 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 1:

So is Cordero... Does Cordero put together all the kids' toys at Christmastime too?

00:38:23 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yes. Oh, that's nice. At my house, at his aunt's house, at his sister's house. Like, he's that guy. I'm telling you. Anything you need at your home, your office, he's that guy. My man is that guy. Shout out to my husband, okay?

00:38:35 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 1:

All right. But here's my big question. I got a big question for you about Cordero. Does he look at the actual manual in the directions, or does he do what normal guys do and just start trying to put it together?

00:38:45 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 3:

It literally be for, like, maybe five seconds, and then the toy is put together.

00:38:50 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 1:

This guy's unbelievable. I love him. I love him to death. All right. Hang on the phone. Hang on the phone. Thank you for listening. We're going to get you set up with all that. You don't go anywhere. We love you. You're a hardcore Mojo in the Morning listener. We got to make sure you're there.

All right. Hang on the phone for one second. Don't go anywhere.

00:39:07 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Okay.

00:39:07 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 1:

All right. Love you.

00:39:08 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 3:

This is the greatest jingle ball.

00:39:11 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 1:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning. We're going to do five lies to tell your mom. If you would like to be on five lies, text mom to 95500 and we will get you on. I actually think this could be an interesting topic. Do we have any high school kids that are going to school right now? Or do you remember when you were in high school? Was there any drama to your dating going to a homecoming dance or a prom? Because when you hear Olivia's story, you're going to go, holy crap. This is like a war of the roses packed into a five lies. She actually is going to call her mom up for five lies and tell her that she wasn't going to go to homecoming, but now she is. Take a listen. And then afterwards, I want to open up some phone lines here. to drama at the homecoming.

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:16 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:42:16 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay? I can hear your teacher laughing.

00:42:19 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. My friends are here, too. They're laughing, too.

00:42:22 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, good Lord. All right. So we're going to call your mom for five lies. Tell your mom and see what her reaction will be to this.

00:42:28 - 00:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:42:28 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 1:

All right. Let's dial her up.

00:42:38 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 2:

hello hey mom yeah hey um i was just calling you because i'm at lunch right now but um i was asking because oh i'm using the school phone are you mine doesn't work with the service here yeah i'm alive The service isn't working here, so I'm just using a school phone. But I was just going to ask you, because I know it takes, like, a while to ship. Can you buy a boutonniere? I need a boutonniere for homecoming.

00:43:18 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

You do?

00:43:19 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have a date now.

00:43:21 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 3:

What's your date?

00:43:23 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's...

00:43:24 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:43:28 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 2:

It's...

00:43:29 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 3:

The guy you went with last year.

00:43:33 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're going now, but **** doesn't know.

00:43:37 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 3:

Olivia.

00:43:40 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't know.

00:43:42 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 3:

Olivia Marie.

00:43:44 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 2:

Mom, we're just going to share. It's going to be like a trade-off situation, so I'll have him for half the night for pictures and stuff, and she'll have him for the dance.

00:43:53 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 3:

That is weird, Olivia.

00:43:56 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not. Well, talk about it after school. No, I was just going to ask you, I need a boutonniere, so can you order that?

00:44:06 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:44:08 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 2:

But listen, the essay. No, Mom. No, Mom. Mom, I also, what do I tell her? Because I don't know. She doesn't know yet. Do you think she'll be mad?

00:44:19 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 3:

Olivia, I think that's disgusting, and you're going to be known as a threesome if this is a legit conversation.

00:44:26 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

No, it is.

00:44:27 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 3:

I would not do it.

00:44:28 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 2:

I would not like this. It's a good idea. It's a good idea. If this is not a joke, oh, my God, Olivia, can we get back to the essay? Listen, Mom, it solves both of our problems. I need a date, and then she won't be as mad because then, like, I won't be as mad at her.

00:44:46 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 3:

Olivia, that is a three-stop. It's a good idea. I don't know that you're being legit, and that is a three-stop. It's a good idea. I think it's weird.

00:44:56 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

By the way, Olivia, are you part of

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 4:

of the theater club, or what do you do?

00:45:03 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm a cheerleader.

00:45:05 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 4:

You're a cheerleader, okay.

00:45:07 - 00:45:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm obsessed.

00:45:08 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 4:

Olivia's mom, this is Mojo from Mojo in the Morning.

00:45:13 - 00:45:14 | Speaker 6:

You're an a**hole.

00:45:17 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 4:

And you're on five lies to tell your mom.

00:45:19 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh my God.

00:45:21 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 2:

Not a fan of the threesomes, huh?

00:45:25 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 6:

Wait, did you actually pull that off? Yes, Mom. You've always asked to be honest Hold on, hold on So this last month Was this like a whole Scam of a month?

00:45:40 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 4:

No

00:45:41 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 6:

No mom, I planned this today

00:45:44 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

00:45:44 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 6:

Oh wow

00:45:46 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 4:

And Olivia, you're not going to homecoming With this guy and her

00:45:52 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm not, I actually got asked to homecoming By somebody else just now There we go Do we like this guy?

00:46:01 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 4:

Is he a nice guy?

00:46:03 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he's nice. Yeah, we're going to go. So he just asked me just now.

00:46:08 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 4:

So, Mom, you need to get the boot in the air.

00:46:11 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I need to get it anyway, actually.

00:46:13 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 4:

And Mom just won a prize for Five Lies. Yeah! Hey, Olivia's with a bunch of people from school right now. Guys, make some noise at school right now for Olivia.

00:46:25 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 6:

and a great job she just did oh my god that's hilarious it's mojo in the morning sweet five lies to tell your

00:46:37 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 4:

oh to be in high school again i would hate it i could do it i don't know a lot of people would be like yeah i'd love to be in high school all over again i hated high school so much for that reason too was trying to like find dates for dances and things

00:46:59 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 5:

it's stressful

00:47:00 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 4:

I'm so happy by the way that kids now feel like they don't need to go with a date anymore

00:47:05 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 2:

I love that they're all going with friends

00:47:07 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 4:

yeah

00:47:08 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 2:

is there any

00:47:11 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 4:

reminiscing at all with any of you guys or even the listeners that went to homecoming or prom was there any drama to your dating in high school Like that, Olivia on five lies to tell your mom to know that your friend and your, what did she call him? The situation. To know that they're going to the dance together. I feel like that just would be just one of those things where it's like, I don't know, small town or small school miserableness, you know?

00:47:43 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 2:

I was the girl that had the older boyfriend who was already in college when I was still in high school. And poor guy. I had him come back for the dances and I shouldn't have because he was miserable. I was miserable because he didn't know anybody and I felt like I just had to hang out with only him.

00:47:59 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 4:

It made you cool though because you were going with the older guy.

00:48:03 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 2:

It is kind of cool.

00:48:04 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 5:

Don't lie. It is kind of cool.

00:48:06 - 00:48:09 | Speaker 2:

I was not cool. My first prom

00:48:09 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 5:

my date left with another girl.

00:48:12 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 2:

We love that.

00:48:13 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 5:

And we were dating so we broke up at the prom and he went home with somebody else. Oh my god.

00:48:19 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 1:

a douchebag okay i had the exact situation happen as a five lies girl i was dating someone for almost two years and i found out that after we broke up a week later he was dating my very good friend no she she didn't speak to me after that and then they went to i think it was prom together and he texted me a whole paragraph telling me how he wished it was me and i never told her because it was none of my business anymore and didn't answer him but it's crazy now because I think they're like still together to this day. No way. Do it KP. Huh? Do it. Double homicide. Douchebag.

00:48:59 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 5:

Douchebag.

00:49:02 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 4:

Let's do one of those War of the Roses where KP calls him up and just sees what he does.

00:49:06 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

00:49:08 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 1:

She found her man. She can keep him. She didn't take my man. She took my problems.

00:49:15 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 4:

i'd like to meet you at sagebrush no we're gonna go hang out at sagebrush um what's up ben what's going on ben how you doing good how are you guys good do you remember any of the

00:49:28 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

drama that happened when you were in school oh yeah uh freshman first homecoming ever uh talking to this girl like the whole time you could tell there was a thing i thought there was a thing we show up to homecoming and this girl tells me she'll be right back i never saw her the entire night where'd she go she went and danced with i guess whoever her crush was and there was my crush dancing with somebody else and then she's like oh yeah

00:50:00 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 2:

yeah i'll be right there and then uh we get back to the limo which mind you i paid for and i brought like a bunch of friends and they all just like went and uh got drunk without me i'm like okay

00:50:12 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 1:

this is cool that's fun oh that's so sad great experience by the way megan go ahead do it

00:50:18 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

D-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d

00:50:48 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 4:

Give it up. Stop it.

00:50:51 - 00:50:53 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Come on. This is before the dance.

00:50:56 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 2:

Not that way. That was funny.

00:51:01 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 1:

They didn't notice him? They didn't notice that there was some guy walking in through the back door of the school?

00:51:07 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 2:

No. Our homecoming was set up in the gym, so they had black curtains and black and yellow curtains hanging all over. And we walked behind one of those curtains, and there was a door right there, and we just let him in right there. and he didn't even have to walk past, like, the people that were taking the tickets. He just walked right in. Made it easy.

00:51:23 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 1:

Chaperones, please. We love you, Alexis. What's up, Serenity? What's going on?

00:51:29 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

00:51:30 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. We're talking about this. How long ago was high school for you?

00:51:36 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 4:

I graduated two years ago.

00:51:39 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. So you remember it was fresh. What happened at yours?

00:51:43 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 4:

so my sophomore year of high school um the homecoming uh my boyfriend of eight months broke up with me the night before homecoming and brung the girl that he told me not to worry about

00:51:59 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 1:

to home oh douchebag come on that deserves like a mason Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da. Douchebag, come on. That was a douchebag radio. That's awful, Serenity. What school was this? What school did you go to?

00:52:21 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 4:

Waterford Kettering High School.

00:52:23 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Shout him out, man. Just let it loose. Yeah, what's his first name?

00:52:29 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 4:

My ex-boyfriend's last name? Yeah.

00:52:31 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 1:

What was the guy's name?

00:52:32 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 4:

um zach just first never met a zach i like i don't like zacks oh zacks red flag name we love

00:52:43 - 00:52:52 | Speaker 1:

you serenity what's going on jessica hi it's mojo in the morning hi hey hey um my name's death uh

00:52:52 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 3:

i went to school at columbian in tiffin ohio and i'm actually 30 i'm gonna be 38 so it was a while ago my freshman year my friends and i got ready across the street at my date aunt's house we went to the school and we're all standing out front of the school talking before we enter and my date was standing kind of like behind me and all of a sudden she unzipped my strapless dress all the way down and my dress the whole top fell all the way down to my belly button

00:53:28 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 5:

what an actual douchebag wait why did he do that

00:53:32 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 3:

I don't get it I grabbed my dress and pulled it up and then stormed back across the street to where we got ready and was bawling my eyes out all my friends followed after they reamed him so bad good friends then they got me to come back to the dance and no one would talk to him the whole entire dance. Needless to say, that was the last time I spoke to him, but that was the worst experience. Still to this day, some of my friends will bring up that story. Isn't it horrible?

00:54:15 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 1:

An incident like that makes you remember it like it was yesterday. Traumatizing. I like these two callers, Julia and Jillian, both on with us. Julia, you there? Yeah, I'm here. all right jillian you there week uh conference together you guys oh did we lose you yeah

00:54:32 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 4:

nope i'm still here julia jillian both you guys right yeah all right so julia first went to

00:54:40 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 1:

homecoming with another girl's boyfriend i didn't know i didn't know so i met this guy online

00:54:49 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

freshman year so this was 2009 and he asked me to homecoming you know i said yes because i met him online he didn't tell me anything and so we get to homecoming and there's like a little gossip gossip

00:55:00 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 4:

going around and somebody comes up and tells me hey he's been seeing that girl over there for the last like two years like they've been together since middle school and so like we're dancing on the dance floor and everything and all of a sudden I see this girl like charging at me and luckily people were able to like hold her back and everything it all ended up being fine we did get into like a little bit of a screaming match outside of the homecoming but that was like our first initial like initial encounter with each other and everything well they ended up breaking up about like six months later and her and I like connected and we've been best friends.

00:55:33 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that wild?

00:55:34 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm actually getting ready to stand in my wedding with me.

00:55:37 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God. That's a cool story. He brought y'all together. Now Jillian's Jillian's listen to this story. Jillian swapped at the homecoming.

00:55:48 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 5:

You definitely did. um so like when i was in high school i started dating this boy who was on the football team and he had a best friend who was also on the team with him he the best friend i was hanging out with like uh like him and his friend as a group and the best friend had a girl like a girlfriend at the time and we happened to be like ex-best friends i did not like her but i figured because we're dating the same like their best friends we had to like you know be nice and cordial so we become friends again i'm very kind like i'm not a mean person i just like let it go and we moved on or whatever well it comes closer to homecoming and i don't know why she just felt like i was into her boyfriend but um she ended up telling my boyfriend that i was a whore and he should not date me and i was like very innocent like a very innocent kid and they he he like called me that morning and he was like i cannot be with you like i just don't like women who like are like that it was so dramatic and i like cried my dad made sure it was like the best homecoming of my life because i didn't want to go well because i did end up going she stayed home her parents didn't let her go to the homecoming and her boyfriend came up to me and was like Hey, Summer told me I'm not allowed to talk to you.

00:57:11 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. It always starts with that.

00:57:14 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 5:

You know? She was like, I can't. I'm not allowed to talk to you. We can't hang out here. And I was like, do you know what happened? And then I told him. So he ended up hanging out with me that night, and he called her, and he broke up with her. It gets better. She calls my dad. So she's sitting at home, and my dad's at home, and she calls my dad and is like, Your daughter is twerking on my boyfriend at home. My dad said, my dad was like, it's your fault. You deserve it. And hung up on it. All right, dad.

00:57:50 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Tell us that you guys are getting married. You guys got married, didn't you?

00:57:54 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 5:

No, he's weird. Oh.

00:57:58 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 1:

That's the end of this.

00:57:59 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 5:

About two weeks after.

00:58:00 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Fall in Michigan is beautiful. Winter is less beautiful. which is when Florida is more beautiful-er.

00:58:08 - 00:58:09 | Unknown:

Go to Florida.

00:58:09 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 3:

Thank you to those guys for that. It's going to be nice to be able to get away. Actually, they're saying that more people are because of the hurricanes planning trips to Orlando than any other destination just because of Orlando wasn't really hit really hard by the hurricanes, the last hurricanes that came through. I saw a crazy thing yesterday on the news about the North Carolina hurricane that took place, the Helene that went through.

01:00:00 - 01:00:16 | Speaker 2:

And they still have, I think they have, it was like a crazy amount of people, I don't want to get the number wrong, because I don't want to over-exaggerate, but I don't think it's anything you can over-exaggerate about. I think it was like, they're still missing like between 50 and 80 people or something like that?

01:00:16 - 01:00:17 | Speaker 1:

Nearly 100.

01:00:17 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 4:

100, yeah, okay, yeah.

01:00:19 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 2:

Jeez. Isn't that awful? They're just missing from the thing. Just absolutely awful. And there's really still tons of people that are without homes and that are dealing with issues from both of the hurricanes. This one that just happened, Melvin, and then that other hurricane, that Haleem. All right. Hannah, or not Hannah, who is this? Havana. What a name.

01:00:47 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Hello.

01:00:49 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 2:

Havana. I don't know. What does that say? Yeah.

01:00:52 - 01:00:53 | Speaker 1:

Camila Cabello, young girl.

01:00:54 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 2:

Give me my point. You're coming to the party.

01:00:56 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 1:

I did that more than you think.

01:00:57 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 2:

Do you?

01:00:58 - 01:00:58 | Unknown:

Yay!

01:00:59 - 01:01:05 | Speaker 2:

Havana, what do you like to dress up as? What's your style?

01:01:07 - 01:01:16 | Speaker 4:

Normally, I try to go funny. I'm not really into the normal dress-up. My best costume I've wore is a blow-up dinosaur.

01:01:17 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 1:

Nice. Like that?

01:01:20 - 01:01:29 | Speaker 2:

Those are easy costumes, too. You just inflate the damn thing, put it on. And by the end of the night, you're taking it off and you're wearing your whatever comfy clothes or anything. Yeah, yeah.

01:01:30 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes I make sure there's another costume underneath for a surprise.

01:01:34 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 2:

I hate the costumes where you got to take all the crap off at the end of the night and you still can't get it off like the next day.

01:01:43 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, me too. Especially anything with glitter.

01:01:46 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh, yeah. Or face paint.

01:01:49 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 2:

Havana from Westland. Hang on one second, okay?

01:01:53 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Thank you.

01:01:54 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

Eloise Asylum is where we're having this. Steve from Grand Rapids is coming. Steve.

01:01:59 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 1:

Steve. Hey, buddy.

01:02:04 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Morning. First time.

01:02:06 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Steve's on the phone.

01:02:10 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 2:

Steve, you're going to have to get a place to stay for the night. And if you want, you can stay at Eloise Asylum. Would you sleep there?

01:02:19 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. That's perfect. I actually grew up in Westland most of my life. Did you really? So you know exactly what we're talking about.

01:02:26 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 2:

For those that don't or are listening to us in an area that they don't know anything about this, Eloise Asylum is one of the scariest haunted houses. It's an old mental hospital, and they turned it into this really cool Halloween scare. And we're going to be throwing a big old party tent out, you know, aside there, and we're going to be throwing a party on the 25th. And you're coming to the party. Congratulations.

01:02:53 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Perfect. Thank you very much. Thank you. Hey, Steve, growing up in Westland near Eloise, did you hear any scary stories?

01:03:01 - 01:03:14 | Speaker 3:

So I heard a little bit about Eloise, but the big thing while I was growing up was Denton Road, like out by Canton. I have heard about that. This road. What was it?

01:03:14 - 01:03:18 | Speaker 2:

What was it? A road that people would get into accidents? Or would somebody die on that road?

01:03:18 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 3:

There's a bridge, right? There was a bridge on that road. Apparently there was a ghost. There was multiple scary stories about it growing up. Yeah, I don't know, like, I don't know any truth behind any of them, you know. The ghost of the blue lady.

01:03:35 - 01:03:36 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:03:36 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 2:

Why is it that she never shows in July? Like, what is the story? Why is it only happening at Halloween time? That I do not know. Yeah. But it's funny. I feel like every place that I've ever lived has a road that has the person that supposedly comes and causes accidents and there's people go missing and all that stuff. I'm not going to be taking that road to go to Eloise's house on Friday. And if I end up, if my Waze drives me over there, I'm going to turn off my Waze. I love it. We'll see you there. And one last person for this one, because Lydia wants to do three winners. Stephanie from Detroit, you're the winner. Yes, Stephanie. We will see you. That noise is driving me crazy. Stephanie, you're going to be at our party.

01:04:33 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Stephanie.

01:04:34 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, she was on that road.

01:04:36 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 1:

Denton Road, got her.

01:04:38 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 2:

Stephanie. Did she go missing or am I crazy?

01:04:44 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 1:

Uh-oh.

01:04:44 - 01:04:45 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:04:45 - 01:04:45 | Speaker 1:

Stephanie.

01:04:47 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 2:

Stephanie, if you come back to life on the 25th, you're coming to the party. All right. Okay. Mojo in the Morning Show, your home. of the War of the Roses, the second date update in the Dirty on the 30. We got second date update coming up here in just a little bit. Kev has a question to ask of parents as you're getting ready to take your kids to school. You're maybe right now in a car drop off line. Josiah's got an issue and you're wondering if you should step in and try to

01:05:19 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 1:

take care of some things. Yeah, I need some help. So help. uh josiah is at a school that is prioritizing the arts and that is the reason why we chose this particular school is because josiah is a visual artist he loves to draw he loves to animate this is why we selected this particular educational institution so josiah for the past week and a half has been blessed with the opportunity to join an after-school art program and he loves it Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, that's where he is. He's loved it for this week and a half. His mom gets an email from the woman who runs the art program. Now, with this middle school, it is attached and is in a partnership with the College for Creative Studies. So the person that is running the program is not, quote unquote, directly involved with the school Josiah goes to, but they're directly involved with the College for Creative Studies. So Josiah's mom gets an email that says, basically, we've had this overwhelming response. We have all of these children who we've admitted to the program, but it's too many kids. So a lot of the kids, Josiah included, quote unquote, will be waitlisted. You're no longer able to go to the program in its current time frame. We're going to push those kids and hopefully they'll be admitted in January once we start things up for the winter program.

01:06:43 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 3:

But he's already been to a week and a half of it.

01:06:45 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 1:

Facts. That's my first thought. It's like, okay, what now Josiah's mom has had the conversation with the girl already to like figure out like what kind of was going on, but it's still very unsettling to me. And then also to Josiah who loves this program, who's made friends in this program and, you know, has confidence in the ability to do something that he loves to do. And, but I don't want to be the overbearing parent. I want to be involved. And obviously like, I love my child and I want to fight for him, but I'm not trying to like quote unquote raise holy hell in this school and like excuse me like what's like you know what i mean like i don't want to go that far so i'm trying to figure out like how do i kind of navigate this because i don't want to just leave it up and like josiah just like he views it

01:07:30 - 01:07:57 | Speaker 2:

like i didn't fight for him do teachers or administrators hold it against the parent that goes to school and fights for their kid uh or do they look at that as okay you know i would do that for my kid because I you're so you're saying that you don't know if you want to be the one to step in and cause any problems because his mom already has stepped up and asked questions yeah I mean that's a piece or or because you're worried that the school people will hold it against you or

01:07:57 - 01:08:03 | Speaker 1:

hold it against Josiah I mean that as well all of the above so to speak I don't think there's

01:08:03 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 3:

anything wrong though with going to the school and you don't need to raise hell you just need to ask the question of help me understand why my son who has already been a part of this program for a week and a half like how did you choose who gets to stay in the program that's been running or who gets bumped to january because maybe they have an answer that makes sense so the answer

01:08:22 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 1:

right now you don't so the answer was there was there's a sign-up sheet that they email out okay first come first serve type of thing okay but in my mind only have 20 spots our arbitrary number only have 20 available spots. So once the 20 is signed up, then the list is cut off.

01:08:38 - 01:08:38 | Speaker 2:

Is it because of funding?

01:08:39 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if it's because of funding. But they said all of these kids signed up, and it's too many kids, basically. So we need to wait list the kids that signed up later and the kids that signed up earlier. They're going to be admitted.

01:08:51 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 2:

But he was already told that he was going? He's already been.

01:08:53 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 3:

He's already been a week and a half. Hair in the butter.

01:08:56 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's kind of crazy. By the way, isn't this the same school that you were going to bring a first? Facts. Facts. What was it again?

01:09:04 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 1:

I was going to send like an edible arrangement. An edible. And it's crazy because I went in there. Here's the crazier thing. Josiah's mom called. The email got sent out yesterday at I think 2.30. The program starts at 5.30. He gets out there at 3.30. So they sent the email an hour before he got out of school and said, oh, by the way, everything that I just said. So he has to be picked up at 3.30. So he's going to school with the idea like I'm going to stay after. I'm going to go through my program. So when I go in and I pick him up, the lady like, how are you? I'm like, I'm all right. So, again, I'm giving attitude. I need to send the edible arrangement again.

01:09:37 - 01:10:06 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that if you would have sent that edible arrangement? Because did you ever send the edible arrangement or not? No, you were going to. If you would have sent the edible arrangement, Josiah would have been one of the kids in that program. I think you need to tell Josiah's mom because she told you not to send the edible arrangement. If you would have sent it, you would have ended up getting Josiah in there. Maybe. It would have worked. It's a whole different kind of school, though, because it's CCS that's running the actual program. Yeah. Austin, what's going on? Hi.

01:10:07 - 01:10:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. Good morning.

01:10:08 - 01:10:08 | Unknown:

Morning.

01:10:09 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 2:

What do you think Kev should do?

01:10:10 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Kev, I think you should. You're obviously not the only parent that will probably feel this way. I think you should get with a couple of the other parents and go to a school board meeting and sit down and have this discussion in front of the officials who probably don't even know this is happening. That's why those meetings are there, to express your concern over what the school is doing or not doing. I think that's what you should do.

01:10:31 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 2:

He needs to be the parent that's there that talks crazy and gets on the news at night, too.

01:10:36 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you can do that, get the news involved, yeah.

01:10:39 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 5:

Wear a Nojo in the morning shirt.

01:10:41 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 2:

It's turning in to lean on me. Morgan Freeman, I don't know if y'all seen that movie. No, is that one of those movies? Lock the door, Sam. Yeah, it's a movie. You never want to. No, he needs to turn into that Denzel Washington movie where he was there and he wanted his kid to get that operation done. John Q. My son. I will not allow my son to not go to the CCS program. What's up, Mike? Hi, Mike.

01:11:07 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo? So I was just going to suggest to Kev that if you or Josiah's mom have the time, I'm sure you're not the only parents who feel this way, like the last caller said. I would like to get a petition together and or get the teacher to get with the teacher and offer to volunteer to help accommodate the large class sizes to – I imagine that's probably the issue that they're running into is the amount of teachers that they have per student because there is, like, Michigan state laws in accordance, like only X amount of students can be per teacher per class.

01:11:50 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 2:

But why would they not have known that before they told him that he was already in? I don't get that. I agree, Samojo. I think the problem is not, obviously they do have their amount of kids that they can take. And I get that. And Kev got that when he signed Josiah up. They could have just easily said, I'm sorry, you're not going. But why would they tell a kid? It's like giving a kid a Christmas gift and then telling them that you got to take it back because they can't play with it.

01:12:16 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 5:

Or were they breaking the rule and got caught?

01:12:19 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Is talking about this going to be better for you or worse for you? Talking about it on the air right now.

01:12:26 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 5:

You didn't say anything bad, though.

01:12:27 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, Josiah wants to be in this program, and I need to figure out how to make that happen. I think you talking about this is better than going into school, because I think now everybody's probably hearing it. Leslie, what's going on?

01:12:43 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 6:

This is what I'm thinking. So the children during COVID did virtual, correct? So why couldn't they let the children do even a rotation on doing virtual? That when they'd be at home doing it. Interesting. I mean, why get kids out that have already been in there?

01:12:56 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 2:

But can you do, like, that creative type of thing virtually, or would it not work for them?

01:13:01 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 6:

I believe that you can. And then you could even maybe do a rotation. If they have 40 children, well, every other day or every two days, you know, it's at home. So why can't they accommodate the children? You can't do that to children. It's like putting a bone in front of a dog and then taking it away. You can't do that. I mean, of course, you know, it's a teachable moment to let them know that this is a disappointment many people will disappoint you and i think they were breaking the law breaking the law breaking the law but i mean that is just a suggestion you know you've got to get creative this is a creative class well use that as a day let's be creative let's have leslie just call

01:13:37 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 2:

have leslie call and say she's aunt leslie i would bet you a hundred dollars it has to do with

01:13:42 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 5:

the teacher and scheduling and not having enough people to watch these kids yeah yep

01:13:49 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 2:

Tiffany, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:13:51 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Hi. How are you? First time caller, long time listener. Hey, six on the phone. I just wanted to say that as an educator and a parent myself, going in and just asking questions for clarification, you should not be afraid to do that. It's not like you're going in and you're yelling at them and, you know, telling them things that you don't like. If you're trying to find out why this is happening to Josiah and if it's a good school and obviously it is that you trust sending your kids there, the educators are not going to take it out on your child. And if they do, then they should not be in the business of education because what a parent does, you should not punish a child for. And like the last caller said, it could be because maybe they didn't expect all these kids to sign up. So now they're in a spot where, okay, we have all these kids and we only have one teacher or one person or two people to help out. So I would suggest going in and asking for clarification.

01:14:54 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it seems odd that that happened. I'm sure that they've got to have some kind of explanation. Evan brings up a really good question. Really good point, Evan.

01:15:02 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. How are you doing?

01:15:04 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 2:

Good, Evan. What's up?

01:15:05 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 1:

I have a good suggestion. If you have too many kids, have them break the kids up into, like, group A, group B. On week one, group A goes. Week two, group B goes. And then they can go back and forth.

01:15:19 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 2:

You are a smart person.

01:15:20 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 1:

All the kids get a chance to go, and no one's left out. And then additionally, when the kids are off, have the kids that are off that week, give them a project to do with their parents.

01:15:32 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's a great point. I like it. That's a good point. Kev, he was supposed to go today. When did you guys tell him that he's not going to be able to go?

01:15:42 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, he realized it yesterday. Okay. Because he was supposed to go yesterday and I had to pick him up early because he would have got off at five. Yeah, they told him yesterday. Which is hard for you. Puts you in a predicament, too. I was like, what?

01:15:52 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 2:

What did he say? because sometimes when a kid knows that he doesn't have the activity to go to, taking him to McDonald's makes everything better. He was sad.

01:15:59 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 3:

We went to B-dubs and talked, had a conversation, but he was sad, and that was hard to see. Did B-dubs make up a little bit for him? A little mozzarella stick might have helped. Always does. Always does. Red Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. this is mojo in the morning live mojo let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening to mojo

01:16:45 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 2:

in the morning you're a doo-doo head let's go hey coming up second date update why are you not getting a call back we have that at 8 20 and interesting we're starting to hear some rumors as to why they're not getting a call back could they have been a little snoopy a little snooper during their date. You ever do that? You ever have somebody come back to your place or you go back to somebody's place and you end up snooping around a little bit? I feel like you almost have to if you're the person that's going back to somebody's house just to see how they live. We'll have that for you coming up here in just a little bit. Also on the way, topics that are coming up this hour are going to be good. In just a matter of moment, why did you not get some on your wedding night? Uh, we'll talk about that, uh, as well as, let's see here, I'm looking through the show sheet. I think we can get to this topic. Uh, this would be a good one. Um, with, uh, KP, KP and I felt her up in public. Uh, that's on the way. And then Shannon with her son, Smith thought that, uh, Shani's granny was buried in their backyard. We'll talk about all of those coming up in just a little bit on the Mojo in the Morning Show. First, though, let's get a winner for a trip to Orlando. On the phone with us is Dalton. Is this you, Dalton?

01:18:20 - 01:18:22 | Speaker 3:

Yes, this is me. How are you?

01:18:22 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Whoa, I thought that Dalton would be a guy. For real. I didn't think it was going to be. No, no, no.

01:18:27 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm a girl.

01:18:28 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 2:

Is that a nickname or is that your actual name name?

01:18:31 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 1:

No, it's my name name.

01:18:33 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 2:

All right. Dalton's a winner.

01:18:34 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 1:

All right, Dalton. Ah!

01:18:39 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 2:

Dalton from Dearborn.

01:18:41 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 3:

Is this for $50? Is this $50 or is this the actual trip?

01:18:46 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 2:

No, so here's the deal. You got a $50 cash card, okay? Spends like cash.

01:18:51 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:18:52 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 2:

And then on Friday, after we get two more qualifiers, okay, tomorrow and then Friday, we're going to pick the grand prize winner. You'll be one of five people that will be eligible for a trip for you and a friend to go to Florida. Congratulations.

01:19:06 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:19:06 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, you're going to pick me. You're going to pick me. I love it. I love it. Manifest that trip.

01:19:12 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 2:

Should we not even pick the next couple of qualifiers? Should we just give it to you right now? You have to? Yeah, you can. Kind of. If you can tell the Visit Florida people that something bad happened to the air checks for this, they won't be mad at us. Listen to what we got. If you win this thing, you've just qualified for a trip airfare to Orlando, Florida, which you already know that Orlando, Florida is the home of all the biggest renowned theme parks. You and a friend will stay at the Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa, and you will have some great accommodations taken care of, including excursions on the Central Florida Everglades Airboat Rides at Bogey Creek Adventures, and then iFly Orlando is going to give you an opportunity. to go do iFly where you can skydive without having to leap out of an airplane.

01:20:05 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's awesome. I can't wait to go.

01:20:08 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 2:

It's all from Visit Florida. So Friday, grand prize winner will be Dalton. Be listening Friday morning for that.

01:20:14 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:20:16 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 2:

I like you. All right, hold on one second, okay? Put her on hold. It's Mojo in the morning. Last night was our anniversary. Chelsea and I had a great time. I want to talk a couple of times this morning about that just because I want everybody to know that I got some last night. I was very excited.

01:20:35 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 4:

Congratulations. Do not take Oprah that way.

01:20:40 - 01:23:10 | Speaker 2:

And I won't get too into it because I know that your kids could be listening. But I do want to tell you this was even bigger than on our wedding night because on our wedding night I got none. And I say this because of Chelsea and I were reminiscing a little bit last night while we were at dinner talking about getting married and how where has time gone and look at everything I actually asked her the question I said if you could do it all over again would you do it all over again and she goes absolutely because I would go right back to zero I would do it all over again and I said to her I go wow that's cool I said you wanted to spend that much more time with me and she goes no I want the kids I was like okay great but it's wild though to think about that Like, would you go back and just start from scratch all over again, or would you just continue and do what you're doing right now? Because I had the same answer, too. And I thought that that was actually kind of cool to be able to think back and go, man, because I can remember the wedding day so vividly. Can you? I really can. I remember we got married. We got married at Our Mother of Sorrows. And then I remember the reception was in Trail Dust Town. This is in Tucson. So the trail of this town, which was like a old Western-y type town, and they had a place there called the Savoy Opera House, which was like a little, like, hall that, you know, you have weddings at. And then I remember we went to Arizona Inn, which was, it's a hotel. I think it's still in Tucson. It's right by U of A, the University of Arizona. And I remember the night was raining, Megan, and Chelsea has told this story before on the air because she's made me try to look bad. But I remember that I parked and I said, hang on right here. I'll be right back. I'm going to go in and check in. She did not hear me say that. I went in, checked us into the hotel only to see some strange man with my wife because he saw her trying to walk in the rain in the hotel thinking that I had left her behind. and then that night we go back into the hotel room and we got into a little bit of an argument because she said that you know i left her behind which honestly probably i did and i probably didn't say to her i'm going to check us in but it sounds good right now and we ended up going back to the room she fell asleep she passed out from being so tired and we had no sex that night don't

01:23:10 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 4:

most people not sleep together on their wedding night it's the longest day ever yeah i mean you

01:23:15 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 1:

You've got to go to sleep, though. I would think you would go to sleep with the person you just married.

01:23:19 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 3:

No, you know, like, do you know a concept? Baked cookies. Yeah, like, have sex.

01:23:23 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 1:

No. He said go to sleep with her. No, sleep with her. No, sleep with her. I'm trying, kids, kids are listening.

01:23:29 - 01:23:37 | Speaker 2:

Baked cookies with her. Sorry, guys. But honestly, most people, most people don't, I don't think, I think most people do have cookie baking.

01:23:37 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I thought it was the opposite. I thought most people don't, like, somebody gets too drunk or you're all very tired. It's a really long day. or I know a lot of brides who like sleep in their wedding dresses.

01:23:47 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:23:48 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 4:

It's so hard to get off. Yes.

01:23:49 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 2:

All right. I want to ask this question then. Let's ask the question, did you or didn't you? But I want to know why you didn't if you didn't. Because I would think, like if I was going to get married nowadays, the first thing that I would do is as soon as we got done saying the I do's, before we even went to take pictures at wherever, I would say let's have sex. Let's consummate the relationship.

01:24:10 - 01:24:11 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:24:12 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah?

01:24:12 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. you did yeah well at our like when we eloped in in arizona we did that night but that was easy because it was just us it was like a you know it was a vacation there wasn't like a big this big long day of activities but when we had our party here in detroit i don't know that i've ever shared this i we had like our party on the rooftop that all of you guys came to and then we bar hopped But in between the party and the bar hop, we did.

01:24:40 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:24:40 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Yeah.

01:24:41 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 2:

But you also have told the story on the air. Your first marriage, you guys did not have. We did not.

01:24:47 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 3:

Right. It's kind of weird to talk about now. But yeah, we did not. We woke up with a pizza box in our bed. That's my cookie baking.

01:24:57 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 4:

I almost said something way worse.

01:24:58 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Cake baking.

01:25:00 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you think, Shannon, that you learned from the the first one that, hey, we're going to do this or or it just happened?

01:25:08 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 4:

I think it was the same situation for Wes in his first marriage. So it was a topic of discussion that we were like, we have to do it because it has to be different. Right. Yeah.

01:25:19 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 3:

And honestly, a lot of times people will say like I've heard people that end up going through a divorce or something like that. they'll say that it was a sign of things to come. They'll say, ah, we didn't even have sex on our wedding night. It's a sign of things to come, which not all people that don't have sex on their wedding night end up in divorce. I mean, obviously, Chelsea and I didn't have not. But I think that's great that you guys did that. I think that should be the new thing, the new tradition, that you guys end up fooling around at the church.

01:25:51 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 4:

We were not at the church. Oh, doing the confessional. We were at the hotel.

01:25:55 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 2:

So is it really like that when you get married where you can't say, listen, we're going to prioritize this because this is our wedding day. We want to consummate our marriage. Or is it that busy? You can't just be like, listen, I don't want to take pictures right now. We're going to carve out this however long.

01:26:14 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 4:

Do whatever you want.

01:26:15 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 2:

It's your day.

01:26:16 - 01:26:26 | Speaker 6:

I can also understand this is the worst place for this to happen. So please hear me out. But I would love to do it in the tabernacle, which has to be the most disrespectful place. But it's all gold. It's beautiful.

01:26:26 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 3:

You'll go to hell.

01:26:27 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but it's the most luxurious place in the world.

01:26:29 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 3:

All right. I want to know, did you or did you not on your wedding night, did you consummate your relationship? Hannah, yes or no?

01:26:37 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 5:

No. No. No, we didn't. And, you know, as a woman, like, you want to get out of your dress the first thing when you get home because it's so tight. So I'm screaming for my husband. I'm like, hey, you know, I need your help. I'm looking for him. He fell asleep on the toilet. so I'm like screaming for him to help me and yeah so that did not end well he'll never leave that down

01:27:00 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 3:

wait the relationship didn't end well

01:27:02 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 5:

no no we're still married 14 years but that night I was like expecting something else and he was just so

01:27:08 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 3:

drunk you could not even get him to sober up a little bit just to get you know a little fun he fell

01:27:14 - 01:27:15 | Speaker 5:

asleep on the toilet

01:27:15 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 3:

okay I get it alright Jennifer yes or no Jennifer did you guys consummate the relationship

01:27:21 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 7:

no

01:27:23 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 3:

no

01:27:24 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 7:

well we eloped we were on an island and he ended up after the end of the day he ended up inviting some random strangers up to our room for drinks and then the best part is he gave my bottle of vodka to them and at the end of the night he was too far gone and nothing happened

01:27:49 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 3:

oh no Oh, geez. And are you guys still together?

01:27:53 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. We are. And it's the first time on time. Yeah.

01:28:00 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 3:

She's not talking about sex with her husband. She's talking about listening to our show. We love you. Take care. We love you.

01:28:09 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 6:

I love you.

01:28:10 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love you.

01:28:12 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 6:

Me and all my personalities love you.

01:28:14 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 3:

Shay, did you or did you not?

01:28:17 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 8:

We did, but there was a whole situation. So he had come back from, he was on leave from the Navy, and we had a six-week-old baby. He had just seen her for the first time. We eloped in Ohio. We were 18. My parents drove us down. There was this whole thing. So we were exhausted. We did bake cookies, but I used the contraceptive sponge, which has been pulled off the shelf since then. I ended up in the emergency room. They told me they thought I had gonorrhea, and so I was ready to go and annul the marriage. He had to leave the next day. It was this whole situation. It turned out it was just a reaction to the sponge.

01:28:50 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:28:51 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 8:

But it was horrible.

01:28:53 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 2:

By the way. Not gonorrhea.

01:28:55 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 3:

Right. Gonorrhea, by the way, would definitely ruin the vibe of your wedding. I'm telling you. That's like.

01:29:03 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

Go ahead.

01:29:03 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 3:

No, I was going to say, although going to the ER on your wedding night for having sex would make me go. I'll tell the story, but I just won't say the gonorrhea part.

01:29:10 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but I would go psychotic if gonorrhea said it that fast.

01:29:14 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 2:

Just the name alone. It's like top five craziest titles, bro.

01:29:18 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 3:

Initial C would like to be voice disguised Initial C Hi, did you or did you not on your wedding night have sex?

01:29:25 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 1:

Did not He didn't do it for two weeks He spent the wedding night On the phone with a dude That he helped his wife Cheat He helped the wife cheat on What? For a year and a half I was young, I was stupid

01:29:44 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 3:

Start all over again You guys did not on your wedding night and didn't do it for two weeks because why um okay didn't do it for two

01:29:53 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 1:

weeks um but on the wedding night he spent an hour and a half with a man that The husband of a woman that my husband helped cheat on, helped his man cheat on this man. So he spent an hour and a half on the phone with him.

01:30:11 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 3:

He was on the phone with him. So he wasn't like having sex with the man. He was on the phone with the guy. Why was he on the phone with the guy? Did the guy suspect that your husband was messing with his girl or what?

01:30:23 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 1:

It was like a year and a half after that. So I honestly, to this day, don't even know why he did that.

01:30:30 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 2:

Did anybody get gonorrhea? I know. Let's hope. Not to my knowledge.

01:30:36 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 7:

I wasn't involved in that messing around.

01:30:38 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're hoping so because the guy cheated on her.

01:30:41 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 7:

Okay, you're right. You're right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You just don't hear that often. I hope you get gonorrhea.

01:30:47 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 3:

We wish gonorrhea upon you. Sarah, what's up, Sarah? How are you doing? and we're talking about sex on the wedding night or not on the wedding night. Did you guys have it?

01:30:58 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 5:

We did not. What did you do instead? Not. Well, after our wedding in Toledo, we went to Top Chef, and we danced our hearts away. We closed down the bar. Then we went home, which my parents took us home, and we decided to walk to rallies in Toledo.

01:31:15 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 7:

Hell yeah, dude.

01:31:16 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 5:

And then, like, right after we got home, his mom showed up right when we were going to bake cookies, to take us to the airport at 4 a.m. to go to our honeymoon in Mexico. But be honest, Sarah. Sometimes the Big Buford, better than bacon cookies.

01:31:32 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 2:

Big Buford.

01:31:33 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 8:

Better than bacon cookies.

01:31:35 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 4:

I don't think Raleigh's is open anymore. Yes, it is. Don't worry. I haven't been there recently.

01:31:41 - 01:31:50 | Speaker 3:

You can still Buford if you want. Listen to Laura. Laura, did you or did you not, Laura, have sex on your wedding night?

01:31:50 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 4:

I did not, but my husband consummated the marriage with my maid of honor. Wait, what? How did that happen and how did you find out about that? I had left my purse and I went in and there was the limo rocking. In the limo? In the limo. at the reception what did they do what did they say to you um they were drunk it just happened and I'm like okay bye so I went on my honeymoon myself and never spoke to them again yes what about your maid of honor what about your friend I didn't speak to her either good good for you

01:32:43 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 3:

that's amazing what a story bye that's a crazy one could you imagine that you walk out where's my husband at where's my maid of honor at they're in the limo where was the limo driver during this whole thing

01:32:57 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 4:

he was I don't know where he was but yeah

01:33:01 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 3:

that's crazy thank you for the call Laura we appreciate you Kendra just got married on Saturday did you or did you not Kendra yes we did

01:33:13 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 6:

and congratulations

01:33:16 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 3:

on the brand-new nuptials.

01:33:19 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So we did consummate, but we got married at my best friend's farm, and then we came home at, like, 9 o'clock because I'm an old soul and I was tired. But he went and laid down on the couch and thought he was going to go to sleep. So I texted him. I'm like, hello, aren't we going to consummate the marriage? And so, yeah, we did end up doing it, But I had to text him first. Took a little work. What is wrong with him?

01:33:50 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Mommy wants to have some sex. I like that, by the way.

01:33:53 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 8:

That's good.

01:33:55 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 3:

You can go back to the couch afterwards. You'll have 35 years of couch time if you want it.

01:34:03 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 8:

I hope you get gonorrhea and mommy wants some sex. Both things that came out of his mouth.

01:34:09 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 3:

And don't forget, maid of honor in the limo. That story is crazy. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:15 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 2:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:18 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 3:

It is time now for the second date update. If you're not getting a call back from somebody that you went out on a date with or maybe you've been talking to and they haven't been calling you back, what happened? Things get weird. We'll ask the questions and we'll get you the answers. Second date update. Alyssa's getting ghosted. Hey, Alyssa, how are you?

01:34:40 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hey.

01:34:41 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 3:

How did you guys meet with each other? How did you guys get together?

01:34:48 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 4:

Basically, Instagram. He started following me on Instagram.

01:34:52 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 3:

And then what hit you up and started talking to you and you guys ended up going out eventually?

01:34:58 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, basically.

01:35:00 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 5:

Followed me and then didn't actually get a message for a while. But then, yeah, eventually he asked me out to get food. Yeah.

01:35:11 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 2:

And then I understand, did you guys go back to his place for the last time that you guys were together and you guys were hanging out there and you thought things went great?

01:35:20 - 01:35:27 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Yeah. We went back to his house and hung out with his roommates. And yeah, it went well.

01:35:27 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 2:

have not heard from him in a while. We're going to find out what's going on. Andre is on the phone with us. Andre, what's up, buddy?

01:35:34 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 4:

How are you? Hey, how's it going?

01:35:37 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 2:

Good. Andre, will you say hello to Alyssa?

01:35:41 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hey. Hi.

01:35:46 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Andre? What's going on? Alyssa was just telling us about you two guys and how you guys met. And I think she's just wondering what's going on with you and why you guys haven't reconnected or you don't seem like you're as interested in her um you know she was nice we

01:36:03 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 4:

had a good time but but um you know i don't know um you know yeah we had a good time all right tell

01:36:16 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 2:

tell us what what about elissa do you like and what is it that is kind of not made you as interested in this relationship there's got to be something because you don't seem as excited to talk to her as we would think that two people that just met would be with each other yeah i mean it seems like

01:36:37 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 4:

you know we had a few mutual friends you know um you know we had uh some food and we kind of vibed and uh you know we got along and everything was gone pretty well um but then uh you know i don't know my roommates told me some stuff that sounded kind of weird and so then you know it just didn't seemed like it fully like worked out i mean you know it's no big deal what did what did your roommates tell you um basically one was just like uh crashing on the couch and said you know like they thought she was like maybe going through the bathroom cabinets they could hear but then like you know one said you know like shame one was like wasn't fully asleep on the couch and kind of saw her take like all the leftover tacos like out of the fridge before she left without asking which just seemed like a really weird thing to do. So I'm just kind of like Was that the food you ate? Or was that your

01:37:26 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 7:

roommate's food? I think

01:37:28 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 4:

she just took like whatever she saw. It seemed like we were pretty much cleaned out. And so I'm like, it just seemed pretty weird. Before

01:37:36 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 2:

you start accusing her of stuff, let's ask her those questions. So first off, Alyssa, first thing that Andre said. First thing Andre said. Yeah.

01:37:46 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 5:

No, I grabbed my tacos. I had like the leftover tacos from when we went to dinner that's what i took on my way out the door to work i needed to bring lunch with me and like they were what was left over from dinner that's fine my dinner i do

01:38:00 - 01:38:08 | Speaker 2:

the same thing yeah okay and go go back to andre what did your uh what did your roommates again

01:38:08 - 01:38:24 | Speaker 4:

accuse her of yeah but i don't know they she's like going through bathroom cabinets and stuff so they just thought she's kind of like going through a bunch of stuff i took a bunch of stuff So I don't know. So it just seems a little weird. So that's why I figured out, well, maybe someone's a little bit off. And that's why I didn't contact her. But it wasn't a big deal.

01:38:24 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 6:

That's also not off. That's super normal. I don't care if we're dating or if you just invite me over to your place for the first time. I did this at Shannon's house. I'm going to go through your cabinets. Yes! That's so normal.

01:38:36 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 1:

If a guy was going through my cabinets on our first date, that is so weird and invasive.

01:38:42 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 6:

I agree. I agree, KP.

01:38:44 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 7:

I don't like that.

01:38:45 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 6:

Because you know what's hot? when he sees what face wash you use and then he gets for his own apartment and then you go over there and he's like,

01:38:50 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 7:

I had all of your favorite stuff. Not the first time that you're at my house. After we've been dating for a while, I fully expect you to do that because I will do that. First time you come over? Yes. No. Yes. No, that's not cool. Let her answer that.

01:39:04 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 5:

I wasn't going through his cabinet. I mean, did I open up the medicine cabinet and peek to make sure that there wasn't some crazy prescription for something serious I should know about? Yes. I wasn't going through it. I just did like, you know, the normal open the cabinet and peek and see if there's anything crazy. I wasn't going through anything.

01:39:26 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you got to be a little bit softer with opening and closing. If you're being heard like, yeah, like what is that all about? I think and I agree with the Megan. Everybody goes through somebody's cabinets for that purpose.

01:39:41 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 6:

business it's like when you have a party you take all of your prescriptions out of that cabinet so that people can't go through those because you know they're going to go through their cabinets

01:39:48 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 2:

yeah i got some recommendations for you shan i put i put prescriptions in there megan just to see if i get get them walking out of the bathroom and what the hell just happened

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 6:

haven't you ever seen the videos of people who throw parties and they

01:40:00 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 3:

put like a ring camera inside of their cabinets and it says you got caught. Take a shot. Oh, and it's like how many people look in your cabinet. It's super normal.

01:40:07 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 9:

You guys, 8, 8, 8, 4, 4, Mojo live 8, 4, 4, 6, 6, 5, 6, 5, 6, 5, 4, 8 is our telephone number. First off the tacos, they're your tacos. You take their, her tacos, Andre. She can take her tacos. It's her leftovers. She used your refrigerator to keep them fresh. She can take the tacos, the medicine cabinet. Now we're 50-50 on this one.

01:40:31 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 2:

The texts are so 50-50.

01:40:36 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 9:

And if that's such a big turnoff, these two things aren't something that I wouldn't call somebody back over.

01:40:42 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 2:

I just want to read you two texts that we got back-to-back. One says, Megan doing creepy stuff and thinking it's normal, LOL. And the other one saying, LOL, I think it's normal going through cabinets. It's so common.

01:40:55 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 9:

I love the idea of the ring camera thing. Megan that's actually the best I mean that would be something that I should do next time I invite you guys over is I should put cameras all over the house just to see where your nosy asses are

01:41:08 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 4:

going you're gonna catch me on every single one of those cameras remember but your bathroom is in

01:41:13 - 01:41:23 | Speaker 2:

your bedroom which is in like the other side of the house room where everybody hangs out so that would be really creepy if somebody started going through your stuff ever since that one party

01:41:23 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 9:

We invited everybody over and we had the one promotions person that went through our bedroom. I now close the door.

01:41:31 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, God, if you want to keep me out, put a child lock on it. I cannot get past a child lock to save my life. It's not that difficult. Just put one of those on there.

01:41:38 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 2:

This girl posted photos and videos of Mojo's bathroom. That's wild.

01:41:44 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 4:

That is weird.

01:41:46 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 9:

But it's Renee, who I love, so I'm okay with her. Even I have a line.

01:41:50 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 2:

She would never have said her name.

01:41:52 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. By the way, she and I talk a lot on Instagram, and she'll go, I am still so sorry. But Cohen, what's going on, Cohen? Hi.

01:42:03 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 1:

Yo, I think it's kind of weird that she was going through a chemist to find something serious. And then, like, what if she did find something serious and then, like, told people about it? Like, what if you didn't want people knowing about that?

01:42:17 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 9:

But what if you found something serious, would that make you not sleep with the person? Like, if you found out that they were taking something, you know, for, I don't know, an issue.

01:42:29 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 1:

I still think it's kind of a red flag regardless, though. Going through people's cabinets.

01:42:34 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 9:

By the way, I think every woman does. But, Tasia, what's up?

01:42:39 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 7:

I totally think that women go through cabinets. I think that's pretty normal. Even men do it sometimes. And usually we don't get caught, though.

01:42:48 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 6:

But the question is, why didn't he check about the food thing? Like, go to your fridge and see if anything else was taken besides their tacos.

01:42:59 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 2:

I think we all agree the taco taking was appropriate.

01:43:03 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, yeah. Everybody agrees with that. Yeah, they're hers. Tina, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:43:10 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 8:

I think that is so weird, Mojo. Why would you go through somebody you just met in their cabinets in their bathroom? That's weird.

01:43:20 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 9:

Because you know that that's how you find out more about the person.

01:43:24 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 8:

All you have to do is ask if they're not forthcoming or honest. But that's a real flag. I would not dare go over to somebody's house I just met. We're on a date of week and they take me back. But first of all, I wouldn't take my body back to my house when I just met. but i would not go through their cabinets i bet you tina your your cousins your sisters your

01:43:49 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 9:

friends your relatives i bet you they go through your stuff when you invite them over to your house

01:43:54 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 3:

you just don't even realize it yeah and tina what if i go through your cabinets and i find out you

01:43:58 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 8:

have a girlfriend or a wife it's just weird to me if all of the doctors come to life but i'm just I'm not going snooping through nobody's personal thing. You're missing out. Oh, yeah.

01:44:14 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 9:

Thank you for the call, Tina. Josh actually brings up the best point of them all. What's that, Josh?

01:44:20 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 5:

So everybody goes through people's cabinets. I'm guilty of it, and I know the next person is, too. But this dude is not interested at all. Exactly. He's making all types of excuses. It was tacos, my boy.

01:44:34 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 9:

You're right. You're right. if this guy was interested in her he could find the tacos in that cabinet and he would be fine with it there ain't nothing by the way these two things are the most normal things that we've had on second date update that have happened that somebody's done on a date and guys have wanted another date so you're right he's just looking for excuses alright Alyssa thank you for

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 3:

putting yourself out there like that. I appreciate you doing this.

01:45:03 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, thanks.

01:45:05 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 3:

All right. I'll talk to you. By the way, and thank you, Andre, for picking up.

01:45:08 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the Dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. And War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:45:20 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 3:

All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. What's happening?

01:45:24 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 4:

Well, a new Diddy story from a brand-new lawsuit, and I just want to warn you it is graphic Diddy allegedly used a TV remote to rape a woman as payback for telling him that she believed he had something to do with Tupac's murder the bad boy founder is being sued by a woman named Ashley Parham who claims that he sexually assaulted her after she dissed him on a FaceTime call according to this brand new lawsuit Ashley met Diddy met a friend of Diddy's at a bar. This is back in 2018. The friend called Diddy on FaceTime, but Ashley said she wasn't really impressed. Okay, it's Diddy, whatever. This is LA. And so she made a comment to Diddy, to his face through FaceTime, that she thought he played a part in Pac's death and she didn't want to speak to him. She claims Diddy told her she would pay for that comment. And she says one month later, Diddy's friend set her up for Diddy to rape her. In her lawsuit Ashley says the man that she met at the bar invited her over to his home when she was there Diddy showed up and said you thought you would never see me in person right? She says Diddy held a knife to the side of her face and told her he was going to give her a joker smile in retaliation for her Tupac comments. Instead he stopped what he was doing. His assistant actually Christina Chrisom the long time assistant goes by KK said don't harm her we can use her as in pass her around to friends so instead he took off her clothes removed the knife from her face got a bottle of liquid from a fanny pack covered her body in this liquid substance and she said that's when diddy picked up the tv remote and did what he did he later did the same without the remote and instructed two other men to follow just a horrific story tom brady has officially purchased a minority stake in the las vegas raiders that deal was unanimously approved by nfl team owners yesterday at the league's annual fall meeting told you that was going to happen uh he now takes five percent control of the raiders i thought it

01:47:38 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 3:

was going to be 10 it's only five but you know do you know how much the raiders are worth too no i'm sure that's a lot of money but billions upon billions of dollars actually i think the Raiders might be like one of the top five of all the NFL teams in value.

01:47:52 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 4:

$6.7 billion. Wow. And you were telling me, Mojo, as an analyst, this means a few things for him.

01:47:59 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So this is a league rules are that if you're an NFL owner, you cannot openly criticize any of the officiating in games. So as an NFL owner, because he's got stake in the team as a Fox analyst, he cannot criticize a referee's bad call also as an NFL owner you cannot attend practices of your team or any other teams this is going to make it really tough for him to go and do what he's supposed to do for Fox as an analyst and attend practices and watch the team's practice I don't know how they're going to do that

01:48:35 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 2:

and one thing, I don't know if you can confirm or not but production meetings that is the way when you interview coaches interview players, you get to study film and ask them their tendencies that helps you, to your point, be an analyst. You actually have to analyze things, and this completely hinders his ability to do that.

01:48:52 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 3:

When he called the game this past weekend against the Cowboys, he was hanging with Jared Goff and doing a lot of meeting around with Jared Goff and Dan Campbell. I don't know how he goes about and does this anymore. I don't know if the league will put a special exemption in there for him because of this. I mean, it would be bad to not have the number one color commentator for the number one network that calls the NFL not being able to do this stuff. I don't know.

01:49:19 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

In Other Dirty Today, Kristen Bell, who famously voices the role of Princess Anna in Disney's Frozen, revealed a little something naughty in one of the movie's songs that she says was absolutely intentional. It's in this song right here. She talks about how for years she's roamed these empty halls. Why have a ballroom with no balls? On Vanity Fair's TikTok page, she explained how she got the joke in there and she said, we just slid it under the radar. And she explained that the creative team behind the movie had to downplay that lion's like naughty nature.

01:50:00 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 5:

to Disney when they were talking about it to Disney in order to ensure that it made the final cut. And it did. It's in there. And lastly, Mariah Carey just solidified her diva status. She went on this wild and very random rant on this week's episode of the La Culturistas podcast about how much she despises overhead lighting. This is it.

01:50:30 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 1:

Overhead lighting. I don't think so, honey. Please stop it. Every place I go, shut the lights. 15 seconds. Turn them out. I don't want to see them. No more.

01:50:38 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes. No more, honey. There's 10 seconds. One more thing on overhead lighting.

01:50:42 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 1:

One more thing on overhead lighting. It makes me sick.

01:50:45 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 6:

I love that podcast. I love Las Culturistas.

More Jingle Ball tickets. Jingle Ball tickets are on sale right now. Ticketmaster.com. Starting at just $35. And if you looked on Instagram or on Facebook, KP did the latest video for Jingle Ball where she talked about, and I thought this was a great thing. You cannot go on dates in Detroit, in downtown Detroit, where you and somebody else go out and do any kind of activity for $35 freaking dollars. Like, there's just no way. Anywhere you're going to go is going to cost you more than $35. So a ticket to Jingle Ball is as low as $35, and I do believe that there are still some of those tickets available. We've got a winner on here that's paying less than $35. They're paying nothing. Tiffany, you're a winner. i like her ooze megan better than our ooze when she wins that was a that was a loud one

that the guys that can really sing, you know, not sing, but sang like him and Jelly Roll are big, beefy guys. That big, beefy guys can actually make women go crazy.

01:52:41 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 4:

Go nuts. And I can't wait to go nuts.

01:52:44 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, congratulations. Hang on the phone. We'll get you your tickets, okay?

01:52:48 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 4:

01:52:52 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 2:

Coming up next on the Mojo in the Morning show, everybody's got to stick around. Megan got locked out. And has anybody ever gotten locked out of their home or apartment or anything like that? You've got to tell us, what do you do when you get locked out? Because I think, Megan, you currently could be locked out. We'll have you tell the story next.

01:53:07 - 01:53:18 | Speaker 3:

I checked your phone and confirmed you were cheating on me. What a relief. I thought I was insane. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9. A mojo in the morning.

01:53:23 - 01:53:37 | Speaker 2:

Megan is locked out. it's a mojo in the morning show uh was that dramatic enough uh i think it might have been but all this although it's not like i need to dramatize this this sucks megan uh you got locked

01:53:37 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 7:

out of your place yeah and i don't really know what happened but i had a feeling this was gonna go on and i i had a feeling because remember the last time we talked about my brother needing to drop off my dog more often he needs to get a set of keys to my house because there are so many locks until you get to my front door, which makes me feel super safe. But you have to scan a key card three times and then use a key to get into my apartment. So there's tons of different locks to get into my living space. And the other day, I don't know why. And I thought it was the elevator's fault because there's two elevators in my building. It didn't work in one of the elevators, my card to scan up. And I was like, it's got to be like a broken elevator. I bet it works in the other one bad luck that sucks whatever um and it was last night i didn't get home until like 9 30 10 ish it's starting to get cold outside now and i'm standing outside of my front door and i cannot get into my building my card is not scanning and i am texting my landlord and i don't know what to do and i'm a little bit panicked at this point uh because it's so late at night i'm like i have to wait for somebody to either come in or come out and who's coming in or out of the building at 9 30 at night it's just not happening that regularly and

01:55:00 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 3:

It's cold outside, and I'm standing holding all of my bags from the day. And this kind of turns into a bit of an am I the a-hole situation because there is a keypad outside of my front door where you can call up to units and broadcast into their apartments. And I may or may not have started dialing random apartments trying to get somebody to let me into the building.

01:55:26 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 4:

I would kill you.

01:55:28 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 3:

What was I going to do? it was 46 degrees outside i checked the weather app i was freezing cold and it was getting late like yeah what was i gonna do you just light them all up like the elevator like okay so here's what

01:55:41 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 4:

i did i know which apartment is mine right and so i was like well the lights are on in the living room and the one two above me so it must be this unit number called that nobody answered then i was like if i had to guess other unit numbers who else has their lights on right now because

01:55:56 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 1:

most of the units were dark people are sleeping what so if the person were to answer and say hello you would say hi i'm megan i'm locked out or would you say hi i have a package to drop off

01:56:08 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 2:

or what would you do so it would have been a lot of help me you know what you could have done say that somebody sent you a door dash that's completely paid for come and get it no because

01:56:22 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 3:

Do you know what people do now? They go, just leave it. I'll come and get it. And then I'm like, no, come get me.

01:56:28 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 1:

Getting locked out sucks. What do you think happened? Do you think your key card got erased or something like that? Yeah, so I checked it. Next to a credit card?

01:56:36 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 3:

I checked it this morning. And I have to say, I have the best management for my building. They truly are the best. I can text them. I got responses rather quickly. But they tried to reset my card. They thought that was the issue. And it doesn't work now on any of the scanning. So I currently don't have a way to get in my building.

01:56:53 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 1:

Getting locked out sucks, especially now because you've got anxiety of when you go home, how are you going to get in? You've got to go figure it out. But getting locked out of your house stinks. But when you're in a place like you are in an urban setting, like where it's a city-like thing, and you don't know your neighbors where you can leave a key with a neighbor or something like that, those cards, I've had that happen to me when I've stayed at hotels. That's why you always got to get two cards where the card erased and I'm trying to get into the room and I can't and I got to go all the way downstairs to go get another card. Yeah. Or you hold it too close to your cell phone and like something like that crazy happened with that magnet or something. So what did you do when you got locked out and what can Megan do? This is a way, this is going to be Megan's world tour. She's going to go meet all of her neighbors now. Whitney. Hi, what's going on? Hello. Hi. You got locked out?

01:57:45 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I did. First time, long time. Yeah. Ladies on the phone.

01:57:50 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 4:

I will always love you.

01:57:52 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we were, my baby was a week old, and we went out to get stuff out of the car, and my apartment door locked. And the keys were inside with my baby, and I called the maintenance, and they're like, oh, it's going to take an hour to get there. I'm freaking out on this dude. and my husband just finally just uh there was there the door where the doorknob is you can't stick like a card in there because it's like anti-theft and um he literally punched the door

01:58:25 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 6:

open oh my god wow oh well your kid's on the other side born baby's in there yeah you do

01:58:32 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

whatever it takes yeah my heart was pounding i bet it was at that point right there you're you're I'd rather have to repair or replace the door than have my baby hurt themselves.

01:58:44 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, well, he was in his heartbeat, but when you have a newborn baby, there's nothing like the feeling of not being able to get to it.

01:58:51 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's crazy. Wow, Mary. Yeah, thank you, Whitney. I appreciate you. Mary got locked out of her house for how long, Mary?

01:59:00 - 01:59:31 | Speaker 5:

So I, first of all, first time, long time. Yeah, Mary's on the phone. at so i um when i was in um school when i was at college i got locked out of my house um locked my keys my house keys and my car keys in my house in the winter time and i had to sit in my garage for a couple of hours because my dad had a key to my house he was an hour away and my younger sister had a basketball game that night so i sat in my garage in the winter time without

01:59:31 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 1:

a coat for probably three hours, four hours. So you guys, Megan being cold last night, you were,

01:59:40 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 5:

you were cold in your garage. Yep. I'm just thankful I had a single picnic chair out there

01:59:45 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 1:

so I could at least sit down, not on the ground. Oh my God. Um, uh, the whole swipe in the card and the card not working thing happened to Melissa. What happened, Melissa? Hey, good morning. My wife

01:59:57 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 7:

and I were on our honeymoon and we got locked out of our hotel room.

02:00:00 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 4:

and we thought the key card needed to be replaced. So we just went to the front desk, but then it turned out that it was the actual door. The thing on the door had to have the battery changed. That just happened to us and I. And so we just come out and replace everything. So we were locked out of our hotel room for a couple hours. Yeah. Those are battery average?

02:00:19 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

They're battery average. And they actually put a new one on ours and then that one was bad. So they had to put another one on it. So we couldn't go in our hotel room for a couple of hours. So I did get 20,000 Marriott points, which was great.

02:00:29 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 1:

oh they gave you some points i like that um tay what's up tay hey um so it happened twice to me

02:00:38 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 5:

the first time that it happened to me i was locked out of my house i was trying to get to work but my keys are also like my key fob is also on my keys so it's in the house i'm like i can't go anywhere i can't do anything so i found out that i like one of the back windows of my house was like unlocked but i'm kind of short i'm like five one so i'm like okay what do i do i stood on a grill and the grill was pretty wobbly and i'm trying to get into the window but the time before that i actually had my neighbor hop on a dumpster she was really tall she hopped on a dumpster and hopped in like the tiniest window to get in and open the door for me it was a crazy experience

02:01:18 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 1:

wow so i because i always wondered about the people that get locked out but have like a window open upstairs like how do they they climb up there or you like jumped on top of your grill to get in

02:01:28 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 5:

yeah like it's so it's um it was in the kitchen so like it's a little far off the ground to get to the kitchen or like the back room so it's like we had to step on something and me being shorter i i definitely have to step on something so and this is one of those things like megan did talk

02:01:44 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 1:

about how she was trying to get her brother a key so she didn't have to go let him in i think this is where apartments got to give you like two of those key fob things without charging you I know they want to charge you because they think you got an extra roommate in there and you're, you know, renting a room or something out.

02:01:59 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 3:

I don't like people. Like, how do you convey that to the front office? Like, if I had a roommate, I would be miserable.

02:02:07 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 1:

Natalie, you there? Natalie?

02:02:12 - 02:02:12 | Unknown:

Natalie.

02:02:13 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I got left out of my apartment for, like, two and a half hours. Jeez. was it summertime or wintertime no it was winter and my friends and i had all gone to the hot tub and gotten very drunk and we left our phones and keys in the apartment so we were like oh no what do we do because of course we went barefoot to the hot tub because we were drunk so we had to knock on a neighbor's door to call the maintenance and then they couldn't find us oh geez so you had

02:02:53 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 1:

to you had to do what megan did although megan did it through the intercom you had to basically just see if some rando person will answer the door for you oh yeah and then i could never face

02:03:02 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 4:

my neighbors again because they're like oh it's a drunk girl well that's the thing megan's going

02:03:09 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 1:

to become notorious if if she's she's the person that's ringing the bell of everybody and i can't believe not one person megan was there to let you in or do anything to help you out i truly think

02:03:19 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 3:

my building is filled with people just like me we're all a little bit old i think a lot of people are like i'm not getting up right now i'm laying down in bed my tv is on my my teeth are brushed

02:03:31 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 1:

would this change you if you had somebody do this for you like or like if if you were home in the opposite somebody was outside would you do this now knowing that this happened

02:03:41 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 3:

That's how you get murdered.

02:03:44 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 1:

Thanks. Were you going to murder somebody last night?

02:03:47 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 3:

I was very close. I was very cold.

02:03:50 - 02:04:04 | Speaker 2:

KP, your building is even crazier to get into than Megan's. Oh my gosh. Because it's like two or three different things. You got to finish a Rubik's Cube. You'd be so screwed if you forgot one of those. You know what you should do? Tappy, whatever you have to do.

02:04:04 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 1:

Megan and KP should exchange keys with each other since they live literally blocks from each other.

02:04:09 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 5:

Megan doesn't answer my text messages. I wouldn't get into my building even if I locked myself out. What are you talking about? That is not true. You lie.

02:04:19 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 3:

I do not lie.

02:04:20 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 1:

By the way, she would be the bad person to leave it with. Megan, you are not very responsive right away. KP, you would notice a text a week later. Oh, KP, you were locked out a week later? Come on. Admit it.

02:04:31 - 02:04:38 | Speaker 3:

She's going back. Look at her receipts. Maybe I was a little dramatic. Everything's responded to. I'm sorry. I'm dramatic. Everything you've responded to.

02:04:38 - 02:04:45 | Speaker 4:

So I'll just go to the station because I'll know she'll be there. Yeah. Be like, hey, Megan, get my key.

02:04:45 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 3:

That's very true.

02:04:47 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Megan's got me on no notification. I'm silenced. I could say if I sent her a text right now, she wouldn't answer it anyway.

02:04:55 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Wait. So now we're complaining that we're on do not disturb at work.

02:05:00 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Before, we were complaining that we were on our phones, and now when I have means in place to say off my phone, we're irritated. So just so I'm clear, there's no winning around here.

02:05:10 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to prove that KP is right. You would not answer the text right away.

02:05:14 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 1:

Note to self, don't get locked out during business hours. Megan will not answer.

02:08:41 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

hello hey mom yeah hey um i was just calling you because i'm at lunch right now but um i was asking because oh i'm using a school phone are you mine doesn't work with the service here yeah i'm allowed the service isn't working here so i'm just using a school phone but i was just gonna ask you because i know it takes like a while to ship um can you buy a boutonniere i need a boutonniere for homecoming you do yeah i have a date now What was your date? Like, it's gonna be like a trade-off.

02:10:00 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 5:

So I'll have him for, like, half the night for, like, pictures and stuff, and she'll have him for the dance.

02:10:04 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 4:

That is weird, Olivia.

02:10:07 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 5:

No, it's not. Well, talk about it after school. No, I was just going to ask you, I need a boutonniere, so can you order that?

02:10:17 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:10:19 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 5:

But listen, the essay. No, Mom. No, Mom. Mom, I also, what do I tell her? Because I don't know. She doesn't know yet. Do you think she'll be mad?

02:10:30 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 4:

Olivia, I think that's disgusting, and you're going to be known as a threesome if this is a legit conversation.

02:10:37 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 5:

No, it is.

02:10:37 - 02:10:38 | Speaker 4:

I would not do it.

02:10:39 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 5:

I would not do it. It's a good idea. It's a good idea. If this is not a joke. Oh, my God, Olivia. Can we get back to the essay? Mom, listen, Mom, it solves both of our problems. I need a date, and then she won't be as mad because then, like, I won't be as mad at her.

02:10:56 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 4:

Olivia That is a three-stop It's a good idea I don't know that you're being legit And that is a three-stop It's a good idea I think it's weird

02:11:07 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Olivia, are you part of the theater club Or what do you do?

02:11:14 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm a cheerleader

02:11:15 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 3:

You're a cheerleader, okay

02:11:17 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah

02:11:18 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

Olivia's mom, this is Mojo from Mojo in the Morning

02:11:22 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 4:

You're an a**

02:11:24 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 2:

and you're on five lies to tell your mom oh my god not a fan of the threesomes huh

02:11:34 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 5:

wait did you actually pull that off yes mom you've always asked to be honest Hold on, hold on So this last month Was this like a whole Scam of a month?

02:11:51 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 3:

No

02:11:51 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 5:

No mom, I planned this today

02:11:54 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah

02:11:55 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 5:

Oh wow

02:11:57 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 3:

And Olivia, you're not going to homecoming With this guy and her

02:12:02 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm not, I actually got asked to homecoming By somebody else just now There we go Where do we look at?

02:12:11 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 3:

Do we like this guy? Is he a nice guy?

02:12:13 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he's nice. Yeah, we're going to go. So he just asked me just now.

02:12:19 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 3:

So, Mom, you need to get the boutonniere.

02:12:22 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you need to get it anyway, actually.

02:12:24 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 3:

And Mom just won a prize for Five Lies. Yeah! Hey, Olivia's with a bunch of people from school right now. Guys, make some noise at school right now for Olivia and a great job she just did.

02:12:39 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's hilarious.

02:12:42 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:12:43 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 2:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:12:54 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. The phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. If you should text the show and you do something that's relatively amusing or adds to our conversation, you probably are going to get a phone call from our producer who will then ask you to go on the radio with us. And we would love to say hi to you. And if you're a first time, long time, obviously call it out. When Shannon told this story just a moment ago, I said, this kid needs to have like his own TV series. shannon's uh son smith to me would be like the perfect kid that you know how you always see like these shows that are based around like a child actor although although i would not want it i would not want that for smith because usually child actors turn into like weirdos later in life don't they that's true it's happened but listen to listen to what smith thought uh shannon Did you get him thinking this?

02:14:01 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, it was kind of like a misunderstanding, but then I just rolled with it. So when Shani's granny died, and if you've listened to this radio show for some time now, she died like more than a decade ago at this point. It's been a really long time.

02:14:14 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 3:

For those guys, by the way, on the show that are newest to the show, like Kev and KP, I know Lydia's been a longtime listener for a little bit, but maybe she never got a chance to hear. Can I play a Shanny's Granny?

02:14:28 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Shanny's Granny was on our show pretty much every single week.

02:14:31 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, this is Jingle Ball artist Jason Derulo as performed by Shanny's Granny.

02:14:40 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Marianne Murphy. Yeah, I'm feeling good tonight. Finally doing me and it feels so right. Oh, time to do the things I like. Going to the club. Everything's all right. Oh, no one to answer to. No one that's going to argue, no And since I got to hold on

02:15:00 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 2:

Off me, I'm living life now, but I'm free, yeah. Telling me to get my hips together, now I got my hips together, yeah. Now I made it through the weather. Better days are gonna get better. I'm so sorry that it didn't work out. I'm moving on. I'm so sorry, but it's over now. The pain is gone. I'm putting on my shades to cover up my eyes. I'm jumping in my ride. I'm heading out tonight. i'm solo i'm writing solo i'm writing solo i'm writing solo she was great the marianne murphy

02:15:37 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 3:

at the beginning is so funny i tried to get her to do it like jason derulo i remember that she was she couldn't she wasn't really getting it but that's okay um so when she passed away though somebody and i cannot remember who but somebody gave me one of those beautiful stones with a quote on it that you put in the garden like under a tree that you plant in their honor or like whatever by flowers well over the years it's it's gotten buried by dirt and rocks and leaves i kind of even forgot that i had it to be honest with you um and so smith who's seven happened to stumble upon it when he was playing near the side of our yard because the stone was by this like pile of wood that i have outside for fires so i'm in the kitchen i hear him run inside and he's like mom somebody is buried in our yard for real mom and i knew exactly immediately what he was talking about so i explained to him that somebody gave that to me when my grandma when my grandma murphy died and he got confused and thought that my grandma was buried like actually buried there by the like under the stone so i'm so mean and i was like i'm running with this one you guys it was so damn funny so I said yeah she you know she she's been there this whole time that we've been living here and his eyes are so wide and I said so that means every time you peed by those trees right there and I told you not to do that for a reason you were peeing on my grandma his little face and I knew like there was something else that he needed to tell me so then he goes mom i did something bad my friends dared me to dig a hole and poop in it and i did it and it was right there so i'm like trying so hard to hold it together and i looked at him and i was like you pooped on my grandma you peed and pooped on her where she was buried and then i just burst out laughing and the poor

02:17:40 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 1:

kid was so relieved but what are you gonna do when he goes goes to school tells his teachers this that he's got his grandma buried in the backyard well and the cops are showing up at

02:17:50 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 3:

your house so here's the funniest part of this story i i went out with my dad came to smith's flag football game on sunday and so i was telling him this story and my dad's laughing so hard and he goes the funny part is she's still in my basement we have we have yet to spread or bury her ashes so she is still you know cooler in my dad's basement in allen park it sounds like She would freak out. It isn't a cooler. It's a cooler. Really? Yeah, it's like a box, and it's inside this styrofoam-type cooler thing. I'm not joking. Ask my dad. That's what it is.

02:18:27 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, do you think your dad would let you have some of Grandma Murphy, and you could actually spread it in your backyard then in honor of that, or no? Would you ever do that?

02:18:36 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 3:

We have plans to ... She grew up going to this place in Canada. i say rondo park but canadians say at rondo park um she grew up going there and then she took my dad and all of his siblings there and then my dad in turn took my sister and i there so we have plans to go spread her ashes there like as a family we're gonna go do that i mean but again she's she's been in the cooler for over a decade now and this hasn't happened but isn't isn't it

02:19:04 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 1:

funny that the things that you can tell a kid and they will forever think about this for the rest of life like like do you did your parents ever tell you something or did has anybody ever had that happen to them where their parents told them don't do this because and they made up some bs story

02:19:20 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 3:

and then you went with it for the rest of your life do you know speaking of my dad he has a a birthmark on his arm and it's like the size of a dime and from the time we were little he told us that if we pushed it the bottom half of his arm would fall off and it sounds so stupid but when you start doing that to like a three-year-old and if we would even get close to it he would be like my arm my arm until i was probably in ninth grade i realized that it actually

02:19:49 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

wasn't real is there anybody that actually i know you can't physically bury also a loved one in your backyard but do people spread their love or put their loved ones in

02:20:00 - 02:20:01 | Speaker 8:

Why can't you?

02:20:01 - 02:20:03 | Speaker 7:

Some people bury their loved ones.

02:20:03 - 02:20:12 | Speaker 8:

You can't. I don't think you can. How would anybody know? That's a fact. But I don't think you can bury their body there. I think you could put their ashes back there. You know what I mean?

02:20:12 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 7:

I mean, it depends on how big your property is. Down in Kentucky, they have family, like, cemeteries, I guess is what you would say. And, like, all of their family members are technically buried on their property. But it's a fenced-in area, and I'm sure they had to, like, probably apply to the government. to be able to bury their families there.

02:20:32 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 6:

But again, how would anybody know in that situation? I don't know.

02:20:36 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 8:

I don't know. I would think that it would be kind of weird for your neighbors to have dead relatives buried next to you.

02:20:44 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 6:

By the way, if you're just tuning in, my grandma is not really buried in my yard. I just want to really reiterate that.

02:20:50 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 7:

But you don't think it's weird that we put strangers next to each other just in a random area and we go, that's where dead bodies go? Oh, I mean, I do not want to be buried in a cemetery. That freaks me out so bad.

02:21:00 - 02:21:00 | Speaker 2:

Same.

02:21:00 - 02:21:01 | Unknown:

Y'all don't know.

02:21:01 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Don't faze me. The Knicks could go 0-82 when I look at you like this s*** gravy. Ball so hot. This s*** weird. We ain't even supposed to be here. Ball so hot since we're here. It's only right that we be fair. Psycho. I'm liable to go. Go, Michael. Take your pick. Jackson. Tyson. Jordan. Game 6.

02:21:21 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God. By the way, it's amazing that you could put something in front of her and she would just read it for you.

02:21:27 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 6:

she must have really loved you shannon to be able to do that she loved the show she loved doing it

02:21:32 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 5:

what's up tony hi well you can do a couple hi you guys you can do a couple different things with shannon you can do what's called a second right of burial where you can bury her with one of your loved ones or you got to be careful like if you go to spread her ashes you can't spread them in waterways right it's against the clean water act yeah we need that just be careful where you spread everything out but yeah you can do a second rate of burial pretty much on any loved one's grave you just have to ask she has her own grave site she has her own grave site next to my grandpa how do you know this well you can if you want to keep that grave site and use it you can still use it but you can do a second rate of burial and bury her how do you know this

02:22:11 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 8:

oh you know i'm a funeral homeowner are you really i never in all the years that you've called this show and talked to us i never knew that you actually were a mortician or what is it a funeral homeowner?

02:22:22 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 5:

I'm a funeral homeowner. Can I plug her? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Southfield Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

02:22:32 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 7:

Do you need a makeup artist?

02:22:35 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 5:

Actually, we have one that does an excellent, excellent job that does it.

02:22:40 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 6:

Can she do my makeup for Jingle Ball? Lay down.

02:22:45 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 5:

Do you want to such a deceased person?

02:22:48 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 8:

Or the booze and daddies. Hey, Tony, if you get any business off of that plug, will you start advertising on our radio show for your business?

02:22:57 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 5:

You guys are pretty expensive. I'll try, but.

02:23:00 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 8:

Wouldn't that be great? Hey, it's Shannon here for, what is it, Southfield, what is it?

02:23:06 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 5:

Southfield Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

02:23:09 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 8:

That would be the most interesting endorsement deal we've ever gotten. Somebody get Jay on that. Jay can work this deal.

02:23:15 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 5:

All right. All right, guys. Have a great day. Talk to you, Tony. I looked into becoming a mortician.

02:23:20 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 1:

yeah danielle what's up danielle how you doing um hey so um my dad passed away when i was seven um he was hit by a train so it was kind of a traumatic death this was in back in 91 so it's been years so completely fine now um anyways he was cremated and i was seven my sister was five he had his ashes sprinkled over his dad's grave so we would go to my grandpa's grave being young kids and me and my sister would pick up the ashes and put them in our pockets and like my mom would get so mad she'd be like throw it out the window and i swear my dad is like sprinkled all around our hometown town state he's always with you constantly taking ashes so yeah you can literally throw them anywhere it's not illegal in michigan you can put them in your backyard you can do anything you want with them after they're committed

02:24:09 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 6:

get your dad out of the pocket right absolutely okay have a good day y'all thank you bye we'll Can we also talk randomly about how my son's friends dared him to dig a hole and poop in it, and you did? Explain that. Y'all skipped over that part of this story. No, no, no, no. Keep going with the ashes, though. That's why I'm saying that.

02:24:26 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 8:

Smith needs his own TV show. This kid's good. What's up, Allie? Hi.

02:24:32 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I just want to say first time, long time. Hey. I was on the phone.

02:24:36 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 8:

What's going on?

02:24:38 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 3:

So me and my husband, we were looking for land in Tennessee, and we noticed, like, grave sites on a lot of the properties. And I asked the real estate agent, is this normal? And they said, yeah, you can bury whoever you want in your land as long as you allow their family to come and visit them.

02:24:55 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 8:

Really? So that's in Tennessee that you can do that? I wonder if that same thing applies.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 4:

As long as you call Ms. Dagan, as long as you don't hit power lines or anything, you can bury whoever you want.

02:25:05 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 5:

I was like, that's a good thing. That would be just weird, though, that you would be having random people show up at your house to go see their loved ones and pay respects to them in the backyard. Although you would get free landscaping out of the deal if they would bring flowers every single year for that. It wouldn't be a bad thing. What's up, Tracy? Hi. How you doing?

02:25:26 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 4:

Hey. So I spread my dad and my brother's ashes on my dad's property down in the alley.

02:25:34 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 5:

Is it a big piece of property, or is it a little neighborhood type thing?

02:25:39 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 4:

It's 20 acres.

02:25:41 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's a lot. Yeah. That's cool. Yeah. I would rather have that. I do not want to get buried in the ground at a cemetery. Cemeteries, to me, are just a waste of money.

02:25:51 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 4:

Yep. That's why I would rather.

02:25:54 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, go ahead. No, no, no, I'm fine.

02:25:56 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 4:

my dad no and after he passed well before he passed he said do not bury me spread my ashes

02:26:05 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 5:

on my property so that's what i did yeah i would i would like to be buried if i could or spread on this great radio station that we have here so that i would know that my body would be preserved in the cold of this horrible studio for the rest of my life. Oh, my God. Do you guys think, Shannon, would you be mad if and when I die, if I have my family spread the ashes right there where Smith took a big duty in the back of your house?

02:26:37 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 2:

God, that child.

02:26:38 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to send Luke over there. I'm going to Luke right over there. Smell for Smith's poop.

02:26:44 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 1:

02:27:13 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 2:

So the Victoria's Secret fashion show returned to TV last night after a six-year hiatus and returned to very mixed reviews. Gigi Hadid, by the way, opened the show. No her bestie Taylor Swift nor her boyfriend Bradley Cooper were not on hand in the audience to tear her on.

02:27:35 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 1:

He's watching from home tonight. He is on dad duty, but so supportive. And I have friends coming, so many friends.

02:27:45 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 5:

What were they broadcast on? Were they on TV? So it was Prime.

02:27:47 - 02:28:32 | Speaker 2:

No, it was live, but it was on Prime Video, so I think a lot of people didn't know where to find it. It did feature the return of some Victoria's Secret veterans like Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima was back. Fans on social media, though, were so mixed. Some loved it. KP, I know, was watching. She was texting our girl group that she thought it was fabulous. But some people had an issue with, they thought it was boring. They said the production was toned down. People missed that glitter runway that was so iconic. They hated, I guess they pumped in like fake crowd noises and that bothered people. And then a lot of people on social media said it was just too woke for them with the inclusion of trans and plus sized models.

02:28:32 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 5:

It used to be like a ratings grabber for CBS. I remember it was like the number one thing that people were watching, but I didn't even know what was going on.

02:28:39 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Just so I'm clear, featuring bodies of people was too woke. Correct. If you weren't a size zero.

02:28:45 - 02:28:45 | Unknown:

Correct.

02:28:46 - 02:28:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Make that make sense for an underwear company that's marketing to women.

02:28:50 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 5:

Is it the trans thing? Is that what people were upset about?

02:28:52 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 3:

It was both. But even either or. That's wild. Because guess what? Trans people wear underwear too.

02:28:59 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 5:

I'll be honest with you. I stopped watching it a long time ago, and I feel like I grew up as a person. I felt like that was the thing I would watch. I feel like it was a thing I would watch when I was in my 20s and 30s, and then afterwards I'm going, I don't know if I should be watching this anymore.

02:29:15 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 2:

I also think, and I could be very, very wrong in saying this, that Victoria's Secret and Pink was at its peak when the fashion show was at its peak when Victoria's Secret and Pink were at their peak, and I just don't think they're there anymore. Correct. There are just so many other cooler, better, cheaper options now. Correct.

02:29:34 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 3:

So every time I walk by a mall and I see those stores, I'm like, wow, those are still around.

02:29:40 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 5:

Should Skims do their version of that? Like, should they have their models go and do it?

02:29:44 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 3:

I like the Fenty version. I don't feel like everybody needs one. That one is nice. Could you just drop the prices? That would be great.

02:29:50 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

That Fenty show be popping. Yeah. I don't know if you've seen it. That's on Prime also. But you mentioned that this was the first time it's returned in six years. It was a six-year hiatus, yeah. Why did it go out? Why did it go out? What do you care?

02:30:00 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 1:

heard any reason truly because fenty was doing theirs and nobody cared about victoria's secret and everybody was praising fenty for including trans people and including plus size model and including all skin tones and everything it was very everybody is welcome here and then it was fun it was cool they had a lot of musicians it was more like edgy and dark so then when it came to like victoria's secret everybody was like it's just a skinny blonde girl and wings cool over and

02:30:27 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 3:

over and over again yeah an update to the story about that dog that was found chained to a fence in the middle of the rising floodwaters during hurricane milton a florida man admitted to leaving his dog tied to that fence along i-75 he is now facing an aggravated animal cruelty charge good uh authorities identified the dog's owner as 23 year old giovanni garcia investigators say giovanni told them that he left his dog on the side of the road because he couldn't find anybody to pick the dog up the dog now named trooper is safe in a new home i like that name that's a good name trooper after the trooper that saved him yeah i want to take a moment to thank and congratulate a great friend to this radio show local fours devon skillion it's wdiv in the detroit area announced yesterday that he is retiring after nearly 30 years behind the anchor desk i'm

02:31:22 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 4:

currently in my 30th year here at WDIV, and maybe it's the roundness of that number, but I've decided it's time to move on to the next chapter of what has been a most enjoyable and gratifying book. You know, my wife, Corey, and I laughed that when we came to Detroit in 1995, we thought we would have a cup of coffee and then move on. Well, the waitress kept refilling our cups, and we found a very rich and lovely life here for us and our four children, and two Kansans feel very much like michiganders today for glory it was a simple class at puabic pottery long ago and today she's an accomplished ceramic artist and for me it was this job that took me all over the world and also gave me a front row seat to all the extraordinary things that have remade this great american city of detroit i cannot believe the way it has worked out and you won't find anyone who

02:32:10 - 02:32:16 | Speaker 3:

feels luckier than me wow so december he's gonna be working through december of the truly great

02:32:16 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 5:

journalist uh is gone i couldn't tell you anybody that's on any of the tv stations after devin's gone like i don't know the main anchors that are on there like the the or at least the main i don't know male anchors i know carolyn clifford's on uh seven um glenda lewis on seven ronda but i don't know but i'm talking about the nighttime ones like nobody's watching the the tv news it seems like the local tv news and it's kind of a shame but devin was the guy like if there was a big story that broke i'll never forget and he talked about this in his goodbye but i never forget christmas day when that uh guy tried to bomb or the shoe bomber tried to blow up the plane above detroit with a shoe bomb member i don't know if you guys remember this back like i don't know 10 15 years ago oh yeah the reason why we have to take off our shoes now on airplanes and devin came in to do the story and he was the guy when the Oxford shooting happened he would stay on television for a long time and do all the investigative stuff he did like their political stuff the guy was like the best of the best so he's gone and it's going to be interesting to see you know they'll replace him with somebody that probably won't we won't even know who the hell they are

02:33:26 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 3:

well he always is one of the co-hosts for the Thanksgiving parade in Detroit I'm throwing my name in the hat for his seat I seriously want to do that so bad

02:33:34 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 5:

well they also and they should Channel 4 should use Shannon for that but they also bring I think they bring guys the old people back like Carmen Harlan Chuck Adica Carmen Harlan well I did it

Okay.

02:35:37 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Had our anniversary dinner last night. Chelsea and I went to a very nice restaurant and had a great time. And can I ask a question of the listeners, but also anybody that's in a relationship on the show right now? Do you know your spouse's smell? And here's the reason why I ask this. So we're getting done with dinner, and we're amongst a big group of people that are there. The place was pretty crowded. It was probably, guess what, 50 people or something like that, or 50 to 70 people inside the restaurant. And Chelsea kind of went ahead of me a little bit, but not by very far. Like, I'm going to say enough that I could have to scream her name to get her to turn her back towards me. well I had done something that got her to give me that little like where your nose kind of curls saying like you know what did you just do like you know what I mean and a couple of seconds later I get up to her and I catch up and she goes did you fart and I said said to her go what do you mean did I fart and she said did you fart I could smell your fart and I go you were like Like, I mean, far ahead of me. First off, I wasn't even, like, walking ahead of you. Like, it wasn't like she caught my crop dust. Yeah. But my wife can smell. She knows my farts. And I said, how did you know that was me? And she said, because there's, like, a bunch of, I'm not kidding you. There's at least 25 to 30 people standing right by us or sitting in their tables, too.

02:37:07 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 4:

Everybody has their own smell.

02:37:09 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 2:

She knows my farts. Is that not love? Give me the awe. this is why you have been married for 30 years isn't that yeah she knows my farts shannon like she she thank you she knows i think she knows definitely my smell like she knows the the colognes i wear because i wear two different colognes i've got two colognes i wear i wear a tom ford cologne she hates it she can't stand it hates when i kiss her before i go to bed or go to work in the morning because she can smell the whole time is it tobacco vanilla it's you know what that's actually uh what luke wears luke loves that harry styles yes um i wear i wear it and i it's like or something like that it's all it's all it's all something that sounds like the

02:37:56 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 1:

baguette you dump in that uh grease uh the you know the sandwich i'm talking about au jus sauce

02:38:01 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 2:

yeah like yeah the uh a french dip yeah um i hope it doesn't smell like it no it's it's actually i think that this is great cologne. The other one she bought me. She bought me a Le Le Bo when she was downtown with her. Yeah. Isn't Le Le Bo? It's Le Le Bo. I'm trusting the ladies. I thought it was Le Le Bo. Le Le Bo. She bought me something there. Hirachi or something like that or hibachi or something. It doesn't smell like a hibachi grill. But we're leaving the restaurant and I fart and I cannot believe she knows the smell of

02:38:37 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 3:

my fart if that's what love is though i'm not sure i want it i don't know did it just smell like ass and she was like did you fart or did it really have no you don't you don't think there's certain

02:38:49 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 4:

smells i don't i think ass is ass so like west farts and he it doesn't smell i don't know how it's very very weird but truly his farts don't smell i i mean i feel like mine have a smell i can distinguish my two children who farted you cannot lie to me and i can distinguish my two sisters who farted you cannot lie to me they all have a very very and my dad actually very very

02:39:10 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 3:

distinct smell my dad's farts family scent yeah you think really you think everybody everybody's farts smell the same yeah like josiah's and my mom's in particular it's like they got the same

02:39:22 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 2:

type of system inside i think that josiah's got got to have newer smelling farts than your mom Because I believe that your age changes the smell of your farts.

02:39:34 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 3:

She's got vintage farts?

02:39:35 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 2:

Yes. There's a little bit of years behind that fart.

02:39:40 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 4:

Some history there. The only thing that changes the smell of farts to me is if you eat eggs. Yeah.

02:39:45 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. Eggs make them worse? Sulfury. Sulfury. We were eating Cuban Spanish Colombian food. And honestly, it was too soon for me to have a fart that was that. It could have been lunchtime. I don't know.

02:40:00 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 5:

Lunchtime, I had egg white bites twice yesterday. So it was brewing for a while. Yeah. So I had egg white bites in the morning, and then I didn't want to eat something big because I knew we were going out to dinner. So I ended up going through Starbucks again and got egg white bites again from Starbucks. But Poncho, how are you, Poncho?

02:40:18 - 02:40:19 | Speaker 4:

Not too bad. Yourself?

02:40:20 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. Poncho, do you know your significant other's farts?

02:40:24 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 4:

It's the other way around. He knows the difference between my farts and my dog's farts.

02:40:30 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 5:

really

02:40:32 - 02:40:37 | Speaker 4:

that is love if I fart he'll know it's me

02:40:37 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 5:

which farts are worse the dog's farts or your farts

02:40:41 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 4:

they're both about the same

02:40:43 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 5:

are they okay our dog's farts I think be honest with you smell like better than my farts I think my farts definitely have more of a smell to them

02:40:54 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 4:

not in this household

02:40:55 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 5:

the wildest thing is I think my farts smell differently depending on the clothing that I wear. If I wear a pair of jeans, my farts, believe it or not, smell worse to me. And I think it's because it's a heavier clothing than if I'm wearing, say, a pair of shorts. Interesting.

02:41:15 - 02:41:21 | Speaker 2:

Is it that or is it you're not washing your jeans enough so it's like the fart of Christmas past and present?

02:41:22 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 5:

You may be right on that. No, that is true. That is so true. the funniest was the funniest was one time this is actually pretty funny I farted farted walking out of a restaurant like I did yesterday and I farted walking out of a restaurant and as I'm walking you know how you walk like kind of fast I could and this was actually a red coat the tables are really close together red coat's the big burger place by us all I heard from the distance behind me was aww you ruined a meal poor bastard that was sitting there at the table call it a drive-by

02:42:02 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 3:

you ever walk into an empty elevator that smells like fart and you're like somebody's been in here my sister got in my car to go to that floral event last night that we went to and i was like i'm so sorry i farted before i got out to go into your house it might still smell like that's the

02:42:17 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 5:

best way to get your spouse back if y'all arguing they got to drop you off somewhere just leave one in there before you shut the door. Megan, here's the big one. Do you ever get in the elevator, it smells like a fart, and you know you didn't fart, do you call out that you didn't fart and let the person know that's in there

02:42:31 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 3:

that you didn't fart? Every time. It's like when you walk into a bathroom that somebody's just pooped in and you walk out and say it's another employee, you're like, that wasn't me. That was not me. That was here when I got here.

02:42:42 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 5:

I walk out of our bathrooms here at the radio station after somebody just destroyed it and go, I wasn't in the stall. It's kind of like I'm coming out with my hands up. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite. KP felt her up in public and she didn't even know her. Did you not even know this person?

02:43:02 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, I didn't feel her up, but no, I had just met her. It was first time meeting Dutch, I guess. First time, long time. Yes. Yes. I mean, so here's what happened. I went to a lion's tailgate, and I went with someone that we are close with on the show, Josh, who does our videos with us occasionally. We were tailgating, and he had introduced me to this lovely couple, and we spent the whole evening together. We were walking around. We got to the point where we were having shots downtown before the game, and it got to the point where, I don't know how this conversation started, but she told me that her boobs were real or i said are your boobs real and she said no they're fake but they look real they're like that those are so real looking they're lovely that's that's how many shots we had we were talking very openly about her boob job this is a complete stranger who i am now friends with and she uh goes would you like to feel them and uh i have never touched fake boobs i i have never touch boobs other than my own so i'm like hell yeah i'll touch your fake boobs i'd love to see how real they feel and i really should have thought about this before i did it because she opens up the bottom of her top to let me go underneath wow and like she doesn't show the whole bar she just opens the bottom so that i can slip my hands underneath and i i touch her boobs And I look over because I'm like, wow, I'm shocked. I look over directly into Josh's eyes. And at that moment, I realized I should not have one, probably not have felt her up in public. And two, I shouldn't have looked directly into a man's eyes while touching another woman's breast.

02:44:51 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 5:

I like guilt take on boobies. I like boobies. Is that is there something to that?

02:45:00 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 1:

letting another woman feel your your yeah what why is it that women who get uh get boobs always will do that they will they'll say hey you want to feel them because they're proud it's a big

02:45:12 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 3:

procedure and if they you know there are a lot of boob catastrophes if it looks good that's that's

02:45:17 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 1:

a pat on the back for you but that that happened one of our uh old co-workers uh sisters got boobs and came in the studio and was like you want to feel the boobs i'm like i'm not gonna feel your boobs i don't even know you how am i gonna feel you but that's weird to me she asked a man to feel her boobs she said you want to feel them like that was her thing yeah back in the day i remember that and it was the wildest thing is they all women who get fake boobs like to show you their boobs too like they like to hair do you want to see it like her that girl could let you feel over the top she let you go under this yeah that was crazy that was crazy but you know in not a weird

02:45:51 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 2:

way i'm fascinated like if somebody had a boob job i want to see how good or bad it is and how

02:45:57 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 3:

good or bad it feels does it feel like normal boobs or does it feel like fake boobs yes i think

02:46:03 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 5:

a lot of times too they're very expensive so you kind of want to get your money's worth and show them off to the ladies and also i feel like every time somebody starts talking about plastic surgery in a friend group everybody talks about what they've had done and like do you want to see i liked my doctor don't go to this guy or have you heard about so-and-so and then you show them

02:46:22 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 1:

like look at my belly button yeah it's like crazy yeah by the way um lions fans are the greatest fans ever the fact that you can actually get a lions fan at a tailgate to just go want to feel

02:46:34 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 3:

my boobs we were in the middle of the bar like everybody probably saw and but i just felt bad for josh because it's like now like he's standing next to us watching two girls touch boobs i don't think i just felt like oh i probably put him in a really awkward situation i shouldn't have done that. Are you kidding? It was probably the best afternoon of his life. He's like, KP, you want to come to the next one? That's the worst part. It's like, I wonder if he got the wrong impression. Yeah, oh, yeah. I mean, probably. Great, thank you. Well, I'm going to text him right now.

02:47:05 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Anybody that has ever gotten a boob job before, have you ever let strangers just touch your boobs? Because that must be a thing that happens to you. You're so proud of getting them done that you want to either show them or let them let just random people touch them but also like i made the

02:47:25 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 3:

situation sexy and i didn't even intend it to be that way like i'm it was only supposed to be like what does this feel like and it turned into like uh where's the music no or it's like this is not what it looks like in this situation

02:47:40 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 1:

did feeling them make you think that you would ever want to get a boob job one day

02:47:45 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 3:

uh no just because i don't think i could handle like the post op and i don't i don't even think i have enough time off to get a boob job how do you even ask tony i gotta i gotta take time off you need to cover i did recently i can't wait for boobs i totally did he was like why do you need time off i was like fixing my boobs no i don't think i would get a boob job but i am still curious is do do they actually feel like real boobs or do they feel like what they look like

02:48:12 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 1:

implants do do other uh procedures like if somebody gets either their tummy tuck or they get a facelift or they get a nose job do you let people like see them or call them out i think boobs are really i think i thought boobs would be the only uh surgery that you would tell people you got the rest of them you want to make people think is natural ever since i have opened up about

02:48:34 - 02:48:54 | Speaker 5:

wanting to get a tummy tuck and breast reconstruction i could not believe how many people started sending me, and they asked first, which I'm grateful for, started sending me pictures of their scars, their doctors, their recovery pictures, stuff like that to give me like a general idea of what I was in for, which I really appreciated. Yeah.

02:48:55 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because those are big surgeries. Yeah. What's up, Alyssa? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:49:00 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi, guys. So my aunt got a boob job, and she actually, she flashed our whole family on Easter. to show everybody show everybody her Easter eggs why not good Friday

02:49:14 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 1:

at what point of Easter was she flashing you like was it where you guys were

02:49:19 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 4:

this is before anything even happened we didn't eat Jesus ain't the only thing there isn't

02:49:26 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 5:

you're going to hell and I will meet you at the dates

02:49:35 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 1:

a texter here doesn't want to go on the air with a 734 says it's obnoxious when my wife does this after her boob job she shows all kinds of strangers her boobs that that would be something interesting that uh you would have to deal with i guess if you were the spouse or the friends of

02:49:57 - 02:50:17 | Speaker 3:

these people? Well, her husband was right next to her. when she did this like he looked i looked over at him and he was he was proud like he was smiling from ear to ear i bought those i bought those like those are fantastic do you see yes i agree like or maybe she bought them for herself no i think they split it i asked how did you do like

02:50:17 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 1:

finances you get the left i get the right in the divorce you have to get that one back

02:50:22 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

02:50:23 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 1:

That's coming with me.

02:50:25 - 02:50:25 | Unknown:

What's up?

02:50:26 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 6:

Stella, how you doing?

02:50:28 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 2:

I'm good. How are you?

02:50:29 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 6:

Good. Some stranger let KP fill her up. What's up?

02:50:33 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, I had a double mastectomy for breast cancer, so now I have foobs. Foobs? It's amazing how many people want to touch them or see them because I don't have any breast tissue. I just have the implants. So, yeah, it's definitely a learning experience.

02:50:50 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 3:

experience did you get the the nipple uh tattooed on um i have an appointment in february for that i'm so i met a woman who does that for a living and it's it is honestly amazing what they can do

02:51:04 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 2:

so they look so real yes actually pierce them yeah and i think you're into that i've seen it

02:51:12 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 3:

in real life too wow i guess if i've seen a lot more boobs uh i was when i worked at a gym one of the uh coaches had uh breast cancer had her her boobs removed and she got tattooed nipples on her implants and they looked incredible like she showed the entire staff and all the everybody in

02:51:28 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 2:

the workout we have a guy at work that had a nipple tattooed on his leg and everybody's like what the crap and he's like well i have to practice on something oh wow uh thanks for the call stella

02:51:39 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 6:

we're happy that you're great uh what's up avery oh i'm sorry we just i hit that one sorry

02:51:44 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 7:

One of my old co-workers would go to, um, got fake boobs or whatever. So she would, like, show all of the girls that I worked with her fake boobs. So they would all go to, like, the bathroom together while they were working and, like, have, like, a show and tell.

02:51:59 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 6:

Did you ever think about doing this with the guys and show your wieners to them?

02:52:03 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, all the time.

02:52:06 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 6:

We do that around here, Kevin. No, we don't. That's one of the days I'm off. Come on, Kevin.

02:52:13 - 02:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man, you're not seeing my weed. Kevin is literally Googling boobs right now.

02:52:19 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know you could tattoo nipples. And they don't just come like your everyday nipples. They got, like, carnival nipples and star nipples. You can get them in any shape you want. I think it's so fun. Here's a heart nipple. Look at that. That's a heart nipple.

02:52:31 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 6:

All right, Mojo in the morning. Listen tomorrow morning for more chances to come to our party. And make sure that you check us out on our social media. Hey, if you DM us a picture of what you think your costume is going to look like, we'll also throw some people in that way. So you can go to Facebook or Instagram. We'll check that out. Mojo in the Morning. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. It is time now for the second date update. If you're not getting a call back from somebody that you went out on a date with or maybe you've been talking to and they haven't been calling you back, what happened, things get weird, we'll ask the questions and we'll get you the answers second date update alissa's getting ghosted hey alissa how are you yeah hey how did you guys meet with each other how'd you guys uh get together uh basically

02:53:25 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 4:

instagram he started following me on instagram and then what hit you up and started talking to

02:53:31 - 02:53:47 | Speaker 5:

you and you guys ended up going out eventually yeah basically like he followed me and then didn't But then, yeah, eventually he asked me out to get food. Yeah.

02:53:48 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 6:

And then I understand, did you guys go back to his place for the last time that you guys were together and you guys were hanging out there and you thought things went great?

02:53:56 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yeah. We went back to his house and hung out with his roommates. And yeah, it went well.

02:54:05 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 6:

Have not heard from him in a while. We're going to find out what's going on. And Andre is on the phone with us. Andre, what's up, buddy? How are you?

02:54:12 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 7:

Hey, how's it going?

02:54:14 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 6:

Good. Andre, will you say hello to Alyssa?

02:54:18 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 7:

Oh, hey. Hi.

02:54:23 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Andre? What's going on? Alyssa was just telling us about you two guys and how you guys met. And I think she's just wondering what's going on with you and why you guys haven't reconnected or you don't seem like you're as interested in her.

02:54:38 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 7:

Um, you know, she was nice. We had a good time. But? But? This is the very best mom. You know, I don't know. You know, yeah, we had a good time.

02:54:53 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 6:

All right, tell us what about Alyssa do you like? And what is it?

02:55:00 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 3:

that has kind of not made you as interested in this relationship? There's got to be something, because you don't seem as excited to talk to her as we would think that two people that just met would be with each other.

02:55:12 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, it seems like, you know, we had a few mutual friends, you know. You know, we had some food, and we kind of vibed, and, you know, we got along, and everything was going pretty well. But then, you know, I don't know. My roommates told me some stuff that sounded kind of weird. And so then, you know, it just didn't seem like it fully, like, worked out. I mean, you know, it was no big deal.

02:55:35 - 02:55:37 | Speaker 3:

What did your roommates tell you?

02:55:39 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 2:

Basically, one was just, like, crashing on the couch and said, you know, like, they thought she was, like, maybe going through the bathroom cabinets, they could hear her. But then, like, you know, one said, you know, like, same one was, like, wasn't fully asleep on the couch and kind of saw her take, like, all the leftover tacos, like, out to the fridge before she left without asking which just seemed like a really weird thing to do so i'm just kind of like was that the food you ate do that or was that your roommate's food i think she just took like whatever she saw it sounded like it seemed like we're pretty much cleaned out and so i'm

02:56:10 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 3:

like it seemed pretty weird before before you start accusing her of stuff let's ask her those questions so first first off alissa first thing that andre said first thing andre said

02:56:21 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 4:

No, I grabbed my tacos. I had the leftover tacos from when we went to dinner. That's what I took on my way out the door to work. I needed to bring lunch with me and they were what was left over from dinner. That's fine.

02:56:36 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 6:

I do the same thing.

02:56:38 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Go back to Andre. What did your roommates again accuse her of?

02:56:46 - 02:57:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. She was going through bathroom cabinets and stuff So they just thought she's kind of, like, going through a bunch of stuff and took a bunch of stuff. So I don't know. So it just seems a little weird. And that's why. Like, I just figured, oh, well, maybe something's a little bit off. And that's why I didn't contact her. But it wasn't a big deal.

02:57:01 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 5:

That's also not off. That's super normal. I don't care if we're dating or if you just invite me over to your place for the first time. I did this at Shannon's house. I'm going to go through. You're in the madness. Yes. Okay, no. That's so normal.

02:57:13 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 1:

If a guy was going through my cabinets on our first date, that is so weird and invasive.

02:57:18 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 5:

I agree. I agree, KP. Absolutely not. I don't like that. Because you know what's hot? When he sees what face wash you use, and then he gets it for his own apartment, and then you go over there, and he's like, no. I have all your favorite stuff.

02:57:29 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh! Not the first time that you're at my house. After we've been dating for a while, I fully expect you to do that, because I will do that. First time you come over? Yes! No. Yes! No, that's not cool. Let her answer that.

02:57:40 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 4:

I wasn't going through his cabinet. I mean, did I open up the medicine cabinet and peek to make sure that there wasn't some crazy prescription for something serious I should know about, yes. I wasn't going through it. I just did the normal open the cabinet and peek and see if there's anything crazy. I wasn't going through anything.

02:58:02 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you've got to be a little bit softer with opening and closing if you're being heard. What is that all about? I agree with Megan. Everybody goes through somebody's cabinets for that purpose.

02:58:18 - 02:58:26 | Speaker 5:

It's like when you have a party, you take all of your prescriptions out of that cabinet so that people can't go through those because you know they're going to go through their cabinets. Yeah, I got some recommendations for you, Shan.

02:58:27 - 02:58:33 | Speaker 3:

I put prescriptions in there, Megan, just to see if I get them walking out of the bathroom and go, what the hell just happened.

02:58:33 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 5:

Haven't you ever seen the videos of people who throw parties and they put like a ring camera inside of their cabinets and it says, you got caught, take a shot? And it's like, so how many people look in your cabinet? It's super normal, you guys. I don't know.

02:58:46 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. First off, the tacos, they're your tacos. You take, they're her tacos, Andre. She can take her tacos. It's her leftovers. She used your refrigerator to keep them fresh. She can take the tacos. The medicine cabinet, now we're 50-50 on this one.

02:59:08 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 6:

The texts are so 50-50.

02:59:10 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 3:

and if that's such a big turnoff like these two things aren't something that I wouldn't call somebody back over

02:59:18 - 02:59:31 | Speaker 6:

I just want to read you two texts that we got back to back one says Megan doing creepy stuff and thinking it's normal lol and the other one saying lol I think it's normal going through cabinets it is so common

02:59:31 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 3:

I love the idea of the ring camera thing Megan that's actually the best I think that would be something that I should do next time I invite you guys over is i should put cameras all over the house just to see where your nosy asses are

02:59:44 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 5:

going you're gonna catch me on every single one of those cameras remember but your bathroom is in

02:59:49 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 6:

your bedroom which is in like the other side of the house room where everybody hangs out so that would be really creepy if somebody started going through your stuff ever since that one

03:00:00 - 03:00:07 | Speaker 1:

party. We invited everybody over and we had the one promotions person that went through our bedroom. I now close the door.

03:00:08 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 5:

Honestly, God, if you want to keep me out, put a child lock on it. I cannot get past the child lock to save my life. It's not that difficult. Just put one of those on there. This girl posted photos and videos of Mojo's bathroom. That's wild. Weird. That is weird.

03:00:22 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 1:

But it's Renee who I love, so I'm okay with her.

03:00:25 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 5:

Even I have a line. She never said her name. Yeah.

03:00:29 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 1:

By the way, she and I talk a lot on Instagram, and she'll go, I am still so sorry and still. But Cohen, what's going on, Cohen? Hi.

03:00:40 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 7:

Yo, I think it's kind of weird that she was going through accounts to find something serious. And then, like, what if she did find something serious and then, like, told people about it? Like, what if you didn't want people knowing about that?

03:00:54 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 1:

But what if you found something serious? Would that make you not sleep with the person? Like, if you found out that they were taking something, you know, for, I don't know, an issue.

03:01:05 - 03:01:10 | Speaker 7:

I still think it's kind of a red flag regardless, though, going through people's cabinets.

03:01:11 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I think every woman does. But, Tasia, what's up?

03:01:16 - 03:01:34 | Speaker 3:

I totally think that women go through cabinets. I think that's pretty normal. Even men do it sometimes. We don't get caught, though. But the question is, why, you know, why didn't he check about the food thing? Like, go to your fridge and see if anything else was taken besides their tacos.

03:01:35 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 5:

I think we all agree the taco taking was appropriate.

03:01:40 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Everybody agrees with that.

03:01:43 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:01:43 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 1:

They're hers. Tina, what's up? It's Mojo on the Morning. Hi.

03:01:47 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 4:

I think that is so weird, Mojo. Why would you go through somebody you just met in their cabinets in their bathroom? That's weird.

03:01:56 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 1:

Because you know that that's how you find out more about the person.

03:02:01 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 4:

All you have to do is ask if they're not forthcoming or honest. But that's a real flag. I would not dare go over to somebody's house I just met. We're on a date a week, and they take me back. But first of all, I wouldn't take my body back to my house when I just met. but i would not go through their cabinets i bet you tina your your cousins your sisters your

03:02:25 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 1:

friends your relatives i bet you they go through your stuff when you invite them over to your house

03:02:31 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 6:

you just don't even realize it yeah and tina what if i go through your cabinets and i find out you

03:02:35 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 4:

have a girlfriend or a wife it is i just i just it's just weird to me it's all of the doctors have come to life, but I'm just not going snooping through nobody's personal thing. You're missing out.

03:02:49 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call, Tina. Josh actually brings up the best point of them all. What's that, Josh?

03:02:57 - 03:03:09 | Speaker 2:

So, everybody goes through people's cabinets. I'm guilty of it, and I know the next person is, too, but this dude is not interested at all. He's making all types of excuses. It was tacos, my boy.

03:03:10 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 1:

You're right. You're right. If this guy was interested in her he could find the tacos in that cabinet and he would be fine with it there's there isn't there ain't nothing by the way these two things are the most normal things that we've had on second date update that have happened that somebody's done on a date uh guys have wanted another date so you're right he's just looking for excuses um all right Alyssa thank you for putting yourself out there like that I appreciate you doing this yeah thanks all right We'll talk to you. By the way, and thank you, Andre, for picking up.

03:03:44 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 2:
