Was this weekend the last of the World Tour? It was.

00:03:49 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 4:

It's kind of sad.

00:03:50 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 3:

The New Era World Tour has come to a close.

00:03:53 - 00:03:55 | Speaker 4:

Thank God. I'm tired.

00:03:55 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 3:

And the wedding in Chicago this weekend for Erica. She looks so beautiful.

00:04:00 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 4:

Perfect bride.

00:04:01 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 3:

Erica and Mark, so happy together. That looked like a fun wedding, wasn't it? Did you text her? You know what? I tried not to. I tried not to, and I will today. No, Joe. No, let me say this to you. I try not to. The problem is everybody on their wedding date, she's not going to read my text message. First off, I'm going to say this. She's going to probably have all of her bridesmaids and her family's text messages be the priority. my text message will just be the okay great thank you or a heart or something I figure I'll wait a couple days until she's consummating her relationship and then I'll give the bow to the wow wow

00:04:36 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 4:

she also had a three day wedding so like you had plenty of time to sneak a text in there

00:04:42 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 3:

how do you have a three day wedding

00:04:44 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 4:

I don't know I want to know how much she spent on this wedding so bad

00:04:47 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 3:

for those who don't know Erica Kev I don't even think you know Erica Erica is somebody who I met through Ellen our old producer. They were roommates together.

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Absolute best friends.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 1:

They were Buckeyes. They were the Ohio State Buckeyes, right?

00:05:05 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 2:

I was with Buckeyes all week. Thank God it was a Buckeye bye week.

00:05:09 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And Michigan lost, though. Yeah, they were probably.

00:05:14 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 2:

No, Michigan didn't play. Michigan football doesn't exist this year. They didn't look like they played.

00:05:19 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. So Erica, and also Erica, is a record representative. Yeah, so she works with us. Who Tony Travato plays little of her music and it annoys the crap out of her. Tony doesn't play much music at all. If you notice, we play Doja Cat, Paint the Town Red still as a power record on the station.

00:05:37 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

Do you know how hard it is when one of your best friends is trying to get a record to play and then she's texting me and I go, Babe, you think I have any power around here? I'm sorry. I like the song. I don't know what to tell you.

00:05:48 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 1:

Did she have a lot of people come in from out of town? It seemed like it would probably be because she's in Chicago, but she's not a Chicagoan. She's Chicagoan now because she lives there, but she grew up in what, Ohio, I believe?

00:05:59 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 2:

The Dayton area. Yeah, she's from Centerville, so she's right outside of Dayton. For all of our Toledo listeners, you are the only ones who know where Centerville is. I know Dayton. Shout out to Dayton. Yep, there you go. The Flyers. Dayton Flyers. Close enough. Yeah, she's from there. She had a bunch of people there. Another record rep friend of ours, Christian from L.A., came in. I'm trying to think of who else came in from out of town. There's a lot of people. I think that's the joy of her life and her job is that people leave the nest.

00:06:32 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 1:

She's really loved, though, for all those people that want to travel in and see her on their big day. That is very special.

00:06:37 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 2:

Even if you didn't like her, which she's great. She's one of my best friends. But even if you don't like her, that girl knows how to throw a party. It was fun.

00:06:45 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 1:

She brought to it. She have Lewis Capaldi performing at her.

00:06:48 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 2:

I wish. That would have been great. That's one of her artists. And I think he would have done it for her because of how close they are. I think she just didn't ask but I'm actually surprised he didn't come or Niall

00:07:01 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 1:

she would get mad because I would always call I would always call him Louis Kilpatrick I don't know why I got Kwame Kilpatrick and Louis Capaldi mixed up is Louis Capaldi good

00:07:09 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

yes and I'm kind of upset right now thinking about this because she knows that I'm actually in love with him like he's he might be my soulmate the way that we're so compatible it's not even funny I guess I kind of Like the moon, now the day bleeds and the nightfall. You know that.

00:07:28 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 1:

That nightfall sounds, yeah. Okay, real quick. I want to ask this question. I would like to ask a question of our listeners to start off the morning. Who's gone, and it doesn't have to be this summer, it could be any summer. Who went to the most weddings in one particular year? Because I, and then I want to know how old you were at the time because I want to match the year to Megan's because Megan's age is exactly the year that you go to every single wedding.

00:07:52 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 2:

You don't even know how old I am. You said I was 36 the other day.

00:07:55 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

No, no. I know you are. I don't know. That's right. I remember you're 30. Happy birthday. I remember you're 30. Do you remember this song? This is Louis Capone.

00:08:12 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 3:

We got to wait to the chorus, guys. I think this is the chorus.

00:08:20 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 1:

844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548. How many weddings have you gone to in one year? Was this her first dance?

00:08:37 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 2:

No, her first dance was to Bleachers, I think.

00:08:42 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 1:

Let's Get Married. I always wondered, when you're in the music industry... Oh, she had good music. When you're a record rep representing major artists, and she does have some really good artists, or you're a non-air personality and stuff like that, you've got to have a good first dance song because everybody's going to judge you by the songs that you choose. Because I remember when I got married, we had the DJ that did the Friday night and Saturday night dance parties doing our wedding. So he's throwing some good music together. You know what I mean? It'd be like Godfather here at the station or something like that, you know, doing it. or uh shortstop or one of those guys zach or zach marcia music or dj four fingers he might have made an appearance yeah but uh yeah he costs there's a lot of pressure she had great music

00:09:29 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 2:

though i will say though a lot of artists that weren't hers were played probably in heavier

00:09:34 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

rotation than her artists oh because she's so tired of her own music probably i think the thing

00:09:40 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 2:

that we've bonded over the most is our love of harry styles so there's a lot of harry styles at this wedding poor mark i don't think he chose a single song that got played all night i don't

00:09:49 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

think mark's gonna choose anything for the rest of his life no he's not no he is not but he is

00:09:53 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 2:

along for the ride and he is grateful to have her right yeah look at okay tax that are coming in

00:09:58 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

right now 844 mojo live call us up

00:10:00 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 5:

or text 95500, texts that are coming in that are saying, Megan, I went to five weddings last summer, and by the way, I'm 28 years old. Another one here that says they went to, this is a couple of summers ago, on my 31st year on this planet, I went to 10 weddings in one year. 10? How expensive does 10 weddings get? Because what we've learned, especially, and I'm assuming that that might have been a female that text into us because there was no spelling errors but I'm assuming you gotta buy dress and stuff

00:10:37 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 7:

I can't tell you how broke I am right now I'm so broke it's not even funny I feel like three is like Megan you did it right

00:10:45 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 4:

three is real because at that point if you have three I'm thinking you have real relationships with these people once we start getting into the eight nines double digits you don't really know these people

00:10:54 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 7:

but I also feel like everybody gets married at the same time Like, out of my Chicago friend group, three girls are engaged right now to be married next year as well.

00:11:01 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez.

00:11:02 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. So, like...

00:11:03 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 4:

This is just a dress rehearsal for you.

00:11:06 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be expensive.

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

Poncho, how many in one year did you go to?

00:11:11 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to take a wild guess. It's maybe between 20 to 30, maybe a little more.

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

Wow. And how many of those weddings did you choose the chicken?

00:11:20 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I didn't need any of them for the most part.

00:11:22 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 5:

Really? Why? just because you got tired of eating bad wedding food?

00:11:27 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 6:

No, it's because I worked them. Oh, there we go.

00:11:31 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what do you do, Pancho?

00:11:33 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 6:

I used to work as a photo booth operator where I'd go in and they'd do photo booths.

00:11:37 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay, all right. So you had to bring the photo booth. Pierre, hi, how many weddings did you have in one year?

00:11:43 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 6:

It'll be 29 next month.

00:11:46 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 5:

So this year, like Megan's, how old are you? How old are you?

00:11:54 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 6:

Pierre. I'm 34. 34 years. I'm 34.

00:11:57 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 5:

Okay, 34 years old. That's about the years I think that happens, right? It's between like 30 and 35 years old. Am I guessing in the right area, vicinity here, Megan? Yeah. Yeah, yeah.

00:12:08 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 7:

I think it all started when we were like 28, and I think it'll stop when we're 35.

00:12:13 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, do these people not realize how expensive weddings are?

00:12:16 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 7:

If I could tell you how much I spent on this weekend.

00:12:21 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 5:

Really?

00:12:21 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 7:

Oh, with the hotel, the travel expenses, the outfits, the gift to the bride and groom, three days of activities, paying for stuff at the bars, the Ubers alone in Chicago this weekend, parking for three days in the city.

00:12:39 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm guessing, I'm guessing, then you think about the wedding gift has got to be at least what, $100, $150?

00:12:45 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 7:

More than that. More than that. It was a downtown Chicago wedding. I know my plate costs more than that.

00:12:51 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 5:

Megan's going to start selling more than just her feed pics, guys.

00:12:55 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 7:

Does somebody want to buy my eggs?

00:12:58 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 5:

There you go.

00:12:59 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 7:

The surrogacy place has said that I am not young enough, but I can strike a deal with a listener.

00:13:05 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 5:

We're calling up Dr. Shama at IVF Michigan and the Ohio Fertility Center. We're going to get those things sold off.

00:13:11 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 7:

I'm broke.

00:13:12 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 5:

This is funny. Mojo, you just talked about the chicken. I ate more chicken and fillets for an entire summer when we went to 12 weddings where five of them were at the same place this is pretty wild I wonder if that place was Palazzolo's or whatever it is over on the east side of town everybody always seems that every wedding that I'm invited to is either Shenandoah for one of the venues or the east side of town is that what it is? Palazola. What is it?

00:13:46 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 6:

It's Palazola Grande and Pennas.

00:13:48 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 5:

That's it. Yeah. Pennas. The best cream of chicken soup ever. So that's good stuff. All right. We're going to begin the show. We've got a full week of good stuff here, including Taylor Swift tickets coming up right now.

00:14:00 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:14:45 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 1:

You know what everyone says about you? They say that you're a homeschooled jungle freak who's a less hot version of me.

00:14:51 - 00:14:51 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:14:51 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 1:

So don't try to act so innocent. You can take that fake apology and shove it right up your hair.

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:15:00 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I got to turn my microphone on. I forgot how to run my control board after the weekend. Have that happened to you where you come off the weekend and you don't remember how to log in your computer? This was the year that Chauncey Billups won the MVP in the NBA Finals. You saw it. 21 points a game over five assists.

00:16:10 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 4:

The NBA Finals MVP, number one, Chauncey Billups.

00:16:15 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 5:

R.I.P. David Stern. Mean Girls was the big movie.

00:16:18 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 2:

You know what everyone says about you? They say that you're a homeschooled jungle freak who's a less hot version of me.

00:16:25 - 00:16:25 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:16:25 - 00:16:31 | Speaker 2:

So don't try to act so innocent. You can take that fake apology and shove it right up your hair.

00:16:31 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 5:

And the big song was Move That Body. That's a good song. What year was it, Tony? Yes, it is. It's Tony Tone from Grand Rapids. First time caller. Give it up. Yeah, Tony Tone. Tony Tone in the house. Tony Tone on the phone. I love this guy. Tony, even if you get the wrong year, I'm giving you this prize because it was so good. What year was that? 2004. It was? Yeah. You're going to see the Pistons home opener against the Indiana Pacers. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Kev, will you make sure that you say hey to Tony Tone? Indeed, Lydia. Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:17:52 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 5:

Look at that girl over there Megan Looking great today Thank you She's in for Shannon with the Dirty What's going on?

00:18:01 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I actually washed my hair for the first time on a Sunday in a long time

00:18:05 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh, that deserves an applause

00:18:07 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 3:

We usually do hats on Monday Because when I get the Sunday scaries I'm not washing my hair Zayn Malik announced over the weekend That he's putting the brakes on his Stairway to the Sky tour After the death of former bandmate Liam Payne He did post on his Instagram story that he was postponing the U.S. portion of his tour and rescheduling for January, even though it was supposed to start next week in San Francisco. I think his fans are probably pretty understanding to this postponement, though, because a lot of his fans were fans of 1D and are grieving this as well. What I think is interesting, though, is that he's not postponing a European leg of the tour, which starts in November. So it looks like he's just taking a break over the next couple of weeks, which does, in fact, make a lot of sense. We had a very big win this weekend against the Vikings. Kings at a north. This is all thanks to our kicker, Jake Bates, who, as he says, really didn't think that this was going to happen because he didn't even think he'd be playing in the NFL.

00:19:09 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 1:

18 months ago, I thought I was done with football. I was working as a brick salesman in Houston. I thought that I thought the dream was dead. You know, it's definitely something that's like, I couldn't even have dreamt of this. Like, this moment is so cool, and, you know, I'm taking it in stride, and I'm having fun with it.

00:19:24 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 5:

I was scared for him.

00:19:25 - 00:19:26 | Speaker 1:

I was.

00:19:26 - 00:19:35 | Speaker 4:

I know, me too. For the lead, Bates has delivered! Detroit is on top with 15 seconds left.

00:19:35 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 3:

I gotta tell you, that game was the first stressful game I have watched all season.

00:19:40 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 5:

And honestly, they only had really one good quarter of play. That second quarter was it.

00:19:45 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I disagree.

00:19:46 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 5:

The rest of that game was kind of sloppy, I thought, but that's what winning teams do.

00:19:50 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not. That was like a game of – everybody was playing at their best.

00:19:54 - 00:19:57 | Speaker 5:

I thought they were going to get blown out, and after the first quarter, they played so bad.

00:19:57 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it was a good game. It was strategy versus strategy. Listen, I have a story later where we're going to talk about stats in the Lions. And I just think that we're not giving a lot of credit to our players here. But I do have a comment on what he said, though. I hope people remember when Bates was talking, he was talking about selling bricks. That's what he was doing before he came to play with the Lions. The best comment I saw on the Internet this weekend, and this is so fitting for the grit Lions mentality, was he built this career brick by brick. Come on. That was pretty good. It was pretty good. Billie Eilish was performing this past weekend in Madison Square Garden. And before you play that song, Mojo, if you've ever heard When the Party's Over, she has this looping voice track.

00:20:49 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:20:51 - 00:20:52 | Speaker 3:

This part.

00:20:53 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:20:54 - 00:22:13 | Speaker 3:

It's actually her singing the same thing in four different notes stacked on top of each other. So when she does the song live on this tour she records all four parts onto a looper. It's the only part of the concert where she asks her fans to be like completely silent because anything that is shouted out will get recorded into that track and then played the entire time. She's performing it live. Well at Madison Square Garden a disgusting fan yelled out something really inappropriate right as she was starting to record he said billy give me a special attention is what i will say and you could clearly hear the gasps of disgust from most of the crowd afterwards and i just was appalled at the fact that when the show gets that quiet you really can hear everything why is that the thing you would shout out i even understand it frustrates me but i understand the i love yous she just moved on and started recording the song she did not acknowledge there's no way she didn't hear it because when i saw her a couple of weeks ago at little caesar's arena somebody shouted out and she responded to it but like why why is that the thing you're shouting out i love when people shout

00:22:13 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 2:

out stuff with comedians and the comedians come back with even a better comeback like if it was big i would but it's not you know something like that i don't know yeah and then

00:22:22 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, this story, this last one, is for you because I know you love a good poop story. Yes. So here you go. This is why I'm never, ever, ever going to go to SeaWorld. Did you guys see the viral video of an orca during a show? Which, by the way, I thought we weren't doing these anymore ever since Blackfish came out. Like, how are we still doing these shows?

00:22:39 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:22:40 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 3:

During the show, one of the orcas took a poop right by the edge of the tank where people were sitting to watch. And then it splashed the water so people got hit by that orca poop.

00:22:50 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 2:

Do you think the orca knew what it was doing?

00:22:51 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 3:

Abso-freaking-lutely. Really? One of the guests said that they expected to get wet sitting so close, but not like that. It smelled awful. People were gagging. And if you wanted to know how SeaWorld decided to help these pooped-on guests, well, they took them to a decontamination area where they got soap, bottled water, and towels. But if they wanted clean clothes, they had to buy their own at the gift store.

00:23:15 - 00:23:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I'm watching the video right now. This is crazy. That is actually nice of that one.

00:23:19 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 3:

No, it is not.

00:23:21 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that's great.

00:23:24 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 3:

You had to buy your own, you couldn't give them some t-shirts?

00:23:27 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 2:

That should be a SeaWorld thing that they do to get people to buy more merch when they're done.

00:23:31 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 3:

Have the orcas poop on them?

00:23:32 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:23:33 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Amanda? Hi.

00:30:13 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. How is everyone? We're fantastic. Good morning.

00:30:16 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 1:

How are you? What's going on?

00:30:17 - 00:30:24 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing very well. Thank you. I just have some feel-good Monday morning news that I thought you might want to hear.

00:30:24 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 1:

Please tell us.

00:30:25 - 00:31:09 | Speaker 3:

so one of my jobs i do home health care for mentally disabled i have a client that i work with overnight into the morning and i am a daily mojo listener yeah and i didn't know there was a morning i'm like i want to listen but i don't know how he'll do he wants to watch his football recap you know yeah so i turn on mojo wait a few minutes And he goes, who's this? I like him. Who is this? I like his voice. So we consistently now listen to Mojo in the morning. Awesome. He tells me how you help his anxiety. You help him calm down. I love Mojo. You love to sound your voice.

00:31:10 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:31:10 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 3:

He's also a bit of a larger guy. Yeah.

00:31:13 - 00:31:15 | Speaker 1:

Kudos to Mojo. Yeah.

00:31:15 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

I showed him a picture of the whole crew, and I showed him Mojo, and he said, he's a big guy, too. He's just like me. Ah, come on.

00:31:23 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Yeah. That's awesome. That is so great to hear that. That is, seriously, you just made my morning. I appreciate you so much. You made all of our mornings. We're very happy about that.

00:31:33 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm glad. I've been debating if I should try and get a hold of you guys to tell you, but. No, no, no. I bet you did. That's wonderful. Demo Joe ain't no good.

00:31:41 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Thank you. I appreciate that. That makes us feel wonderful to hear that. What's his name so I can shout him out and say hello? His name is Brian. Brian, we love you, big Brian. You big, lovable, huggable, and fun man. And I hope they get a chance to meet you in person someday, Brian.

00:31:59 - 00:32:02 | Speaker 3:

You guys are incredible. Thank you so much.

00:32:02 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. We'll make sure we put this on the podcast so that you can play it for him and tell him that we love him, but we love you more because of what you do for a living. I think that's a wonderful career that you have chosen to help people like you are.

00:32:17 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 3:

Thank you very much. It's one of a few things I do, but it's definitely the favorite.

00:32:20 - 00:32:22 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that awesome, man? Well, thank you.

00:32:22 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 3:

He will be playing this on repeat. Y'all have a wonderful day. All right, you take care of yourself.

00:32:26 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 1:

That was nice. That was a very nice call. It's Mojo in the morning. I got to tell you, my wife, Chelsea, kind of had this rant that I thought was actually kind of funny. I wish that I recorded it because it was just so great. It was one of those moments where as a mother of three boys and then basically a fourth boy and me my you know self being one of her children at times she just doesn't have it you know like she's she's outnumbered in such a huge way and she never got the girl that she wanted and it's so depressing well she always complains about how gross the boys and I are and she gave an example when we were together we my sons and I and stuff we were all hanging out and her example of... Who's talking in the other room? I can hear it so loud. What is going on in there?

00:33:16 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

The door is shut. So loud.

00:33:19 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 1:

Are we having like a party out there in the hallway? It sounds like it. I think KP's like giddy this morning. You okay over there? We're giving

00:33:26 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 2:

away Taylor Swift tickets, so we're trying to make a cute video. Oh. I'm sorry. Is there

00:33:30 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 1:

any way that we could make it a little less...

00:33:34 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 2:

But that's okay. The volume's at a nine. I'll bring it to like a two. I do apologize.

00:33:39 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 1:

No. I was like, all of a sudden, I'm hearing like uh all the craziness in there i was like i feel like i'm missing out on something what i'm what i'm doing doesn't seem as much fun um so back to what i was saying so chelsea uh complains for example that she doesn't understand that guys feel the need to do the pension roll and do you know what a pension roll is explain this to me oh you i know you do the pension roll i guarantee you kev you just probably just don't know it's called the pension megan do you know What are you talking about?

00:34:08 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 2:

I think you should explain it.

00:34:11 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay. It's when...

00:34:12 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 2:

I know it, but if I say that, he's going to make me describe it, and I'd like him to handle this. Are you sure you don't want to? I'd love you to describe it. No, no, no. It's all you.

00:34:20 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

The pinch and roll is when, as a guy, you have an itch that is so bad that you must place the loose sack skin in between your finger and your thumb. Loose sack skin. And once you have a good grab on it, you proceed to pinch and then roll it to get that itch to go away. Damn. Have you ever done the pinch and roll? I've definitely scratched and adjusted and, you know, lifted it and got an itch off. Yeah, for sure. Pinch and roll, though, is something that me and my boys do. I think I taught them. The term is insane. Zach, you've done that.

00:35:00 - 00:35:04 | Speaker 5:

the pinch and roll before every day man i don't understand how you not do the pinch and roll you

00:35:04 - 00:35:09 | Speaker 4:

scratch like a serial killer yeah uh well i mean it depends on how you know thick the itch is i

00:35:09 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 5:

guess chelsea chelsea was like you guys are disgusting why is it that you guys always have to be touching yourselves and i'm trying to explain to her that there are times when we're sitting in our chairs or you know on the couch watching like a lions game and we're there for a period of time and i don't know what it is but maybe it's excessive crotch sweat or something that causes your testicles and your sac to kind of get a little sweaty. And it causes for an inch.

00:35:39 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to go ahead and write you a prescription for two testicles and you feel free to get this filled out whenever you want.

00:35:45 - 00:36:00 | Speaker 5:

So for her, that is a disgusting thing. She just doesn't understand why guys do that. And I thought, I'm going to bring this up on the air because I know that there are probably other women that could share in her pain. and I bet you that there are other guys that have done the pinch and roll.

00:36:01 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I'm not disgusted that you did the pinch and roll. I'm always disgusted. You guys seem to do it in front of us on the couch with no real shame.

00:36:10 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 5:

Well, your brother obviously does and your dad probably do the pinch and roll too, don't they?

00:36:14 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 3:

I've also dated people very long term.

00:36:15 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 5:

Okay, well, and some of these boyfriends are doing them too.

00:36:19 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but like I don't understand.

00:36:20 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 5:

Wait, has your brother, your dad, and your boyfriend's ever done it all together?

00:36:23 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 3:

Only the boyfriends have done it in front of me. Oh, thank God. Only the boyfriends have done it in front of me.

00:36:28 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 5:

You're telling me Scott Mick has never done the pinch and roll in front of you?

00:36:31 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 3:

No, I think it's really weird to touch your balls in front of your daughter.

00:36:34 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

00:36:35 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 3:

Just in case you're wondering, that's kind of off-limits. He's not staring you in the eyes when he does it. It's still so gross. What if I was standing here right now with my hands down my pants?

00:36:44 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 4:

It's weird. I think it's equivalent in a female capacity when you guys scratch under your breasts, maybe.

00:36:50 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no. It's an itch, and then you smell it, too. Are my hands in my bra actually touching my skin, or am I itching it through my shirt?

00:36:59 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 5:

I guess it depends on how big you are. Do women not get itches down there, though?

00:37:05 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 3:

We do. We're just polite members of society who have the knowledge and wherewithal of social standards to go to a bathroom and do it privately.

00:37:13 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 4:

Bro, that take too long.

00:37:16 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 3:

But you wonder why we call you gross.

00:37:18 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 4:

This is it. You want me to walk all the way to the bathroom for a quick itch? Yes. No, bro, that's too far. I can't do it.

00:37:24 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding? It's like when I need to adjust my undergarments. I don't just stand up in the living room, undo my pants, and fix my underwear.

00:37:32 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 5:

Why do women feel the need to point out the fact that, guys, we are just humans? You're gross humans.

00:37:40 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 3:

We're not saying you're not humans. We're saying you're gross humans with low standards.

00:37:45 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. It's not like I'm going to eat a sandwich right after it. Right.

00:37:48 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 3:

You still don't think it's weird that you're putting your... is it too early to say genitals you're putting your genitals in your head i said sack mine is the medical term yours is not uh but i i do feel like it is weird that you guys are fighting for your ability to touch yourselves it's not in the living room i don't fight my ability

00:38:12 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 5:

844 mojo live 844-665-6548 every guy does it and i would like guys to admit that every guy does it every guy does the pinch and roll other things that every guy does and i think every woman does this too we do the smell test on our jeans and our underwear oh yeah yes bro

00:38:31 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 4:

i mean have you ever did a pop and sniff what that's like if you're wearing pants that have elastic and you just pop the top and then if you get the waft that comes up then you know shower

00:38:41 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 5:

time yeah that's a good one by the way i gotta try that the pinch and roll and the pop and what

00:38:46 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Why is that the barometer? I feel like if that's the barometer, it's gone too far. I'm telling you, sometimes you just got to know. That's it. People, nobody feels bad for me. You should. You have some things, Megan. What do I have?

00:39:04 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 4:

We got to dig deep. You don't know. They're there. There's nothing.

00:39:08 - 00:39:13 | Speaker 5:

Cindy, I know they're there. Hello? You understand every guy does it, Cindy, right?

00:39:14 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 2:

I understand that. Trust me, I do. But Megan, let me tell you what, I was at Target one day and all of a sudden this lady walked past the car and she reached her hand down the front of her pants, scratching herself. No!

00:39:27 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 4:

No, that sounds great.

00:39:28 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was disgusting. I told my husband, I'm like, she should have went into Target and does bathroom.

00:39:34 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:39:35 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 3:

But we all agree that's crazy behavior, just like when men do it.

00:39:40 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 4:

I think it's crazy because y'all got nails too though.

00:39:42 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 2:

That's like the adelaire.

00:39:46 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call. Hi, Ryan. What's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:39:49 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing?

00:39:51 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 5:

We're doing okay, buddy. What's up?

00:39:53 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 2:

That's great, great. Hey, man, I love you guys.

00:39:55 - 00:39:56 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hold on. I got to...

00:39:56 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too.

00:39:57 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

How's it going?

00:40:00 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 5:

Anyway, we're guys. We all do that, you know, and I wish you guys would quit talking about it because you're making my balls itch.

00:40:09 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 2:

That is true. You know what it is? It's like when you hear somebody sneeze. It makes you want to sneeze. What's up, Kim? How you doing?

00:40:20 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Morning. I think it's more girls, women do panties if they're wearing them. Oh. So their panties not necessarily go underneath everything. Can I get a shot, Pete Vinty? Hi.

00:40:33 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 2:

Yes, can you please pull around? By the way, that guy that's there just heard her say that.

00:40:39 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 6:

Right into the drive-thru speaker.

00:40:41 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Sid, what's up?

00:40:43 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how's it going, guys?

00:40:44 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 2:

Good. We're talking about the, you know, the pinch and twist. You do the pinch and twist, don't you?

00:40:49 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 6:

So, not only me, but there's patients in the hospital that will do this, you know, with their garments down, and they'll expect you to shake your hand when you first walk in. Oh, there is no way in hell.

00:41:02 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 2:

And usually, they're usually not wearing any underwear, are they, underneath one of those gowns? I can't hear you guys. What I'm saying is, I'd like a venti. Hey, Tabor, what's up? Hey, what's up? Nothing much, man. We're talking this morning about the fact that every guy does this. Megan doesn't understand it. My wife thinks it's disgusting. What are your thoughts?

00:41:26 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 4:

um okay so even though it's a disgusting thing as a gay man i just want to say that it is very true yes and honestly if i have to scratch my balls i'm gonna do it if i have an itch i'm

00:41:40 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 3:

gonna do it i get that okay i'm not saying it's not true right i'm not denying that this happens i'm very aware that it happens i've seen it with my own two eyes by strangers and people that i love i'm just asking why you have to do it in front of other people because there's always

00:41:56 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 4:

people around you have an itch yeah i think it's perfectly normal that is by the way the benefit

00:42:01 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 2:

of being a gay man is that your partner does understand the pinch and twist right no oh yeah

00:42:07 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 3:

totally totally yeah you're telling me your partner loves watching you each your junk and not in a sexy way like i'd like to get ready for some fun time but in a way that's like my junkie's itchy

00:42:21 - 00:42:38 | Speaker 2:

you don't think that his is itchy too I think that they're both are itchy your partner loves you and wants you to be comfortable exactly this is one of those just wonderful things well thank you for the call Tabor we appreciate you have a great morning alright it is Mojo in the morning

00:42:38 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 4:

can you take this call

00:42:40 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 2:

hey what's up Joe

00:42:42 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 5:

yo how you guys doing

00:42:45 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 2:

doing good Joe

00:42:46 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 5:

i worked with a girl one time i went a copy room and she was messing around up front she was wearing a dress i walked in what are you doing she goes i gotta pull the wall and i looked at her like gotta pull the wall she goes when she wears like the lingerie stuff the uh the christmas goes through so she has to pull the wall so it doesn't pull on her christmas

00:43:13 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. So you're saying that she called it, I got to pull the wool. She's pulling the underwear out of her thing. Something about vaginas.

00:43:24 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 5:

Her Christmas was going through her underwear. Okay.

00:43:29 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 2:

Megan, do you pull the wool?

00:43:32 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 3:

I've had laser hair removal.

00:43:34 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:43:35 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 3:

Your vagina just tried to bite me. Ten out of ten would recommend.

00:43:40 - 00:43:42 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, now we all have the visual.

00:43:43 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 3:

thank you i didn't do this i didn't do the visual don't say that after i talk those sidewalks are

00:43:48 - 00:44:08 | Speaker 2:

shoveled thank you for the call mojo in the morning show megan went to the wedding this weekend and had something happened after the wedding in you know i'm going to title this one and make sure this podcast is titled this way he didn't show up because of megan yeah no i feel

00:44:08 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 3:

really bad about this so um this wedding that i went to this past weekend was so much fun so much fun i want to make that very clear before i say this next part because it's going to sound exhausting because it was but in the best way it was a three-day wedding it was three days of festivities which by the way i actually now think should be the standard for all weddings because it was like a vacation weekend that was an absolute blast where you got to celebrate some friends but But at the second day of the event, which was the actual wedding itself, I met someone and we had some fun together throughout the night. And it turned out to just be a really good time. That's what I'll say about that. Hey, wait a second. Okay.

00:45:00 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 1:

so we had a fun time but it turns out that we may have complicated things within the friend group and he didn't actually show up to the third day of festivities and it's starting to kind of cause a rift in the friend group because it's kind of crappy when you rsvp to be at an event and then you don't show up because of the choices you made and it's causing like a big rift over who should apologize was it that big of a deal do they hold it against him or hold it against you and him so i don't know if they're holding it against me they said they didn't and quite frankly i showed up so i'm not the problem here um i think they're just frustrated with him for not coming to the third day of activities because of what happened on the second okay so in it real

00:45:55 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 2:

quick let's go back for a second for any of the listeners that didn't hear this it was an out-of-town wedding but there were multiple things so there was like what something thursday friday saturday

00:46:03 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 1:

sunday no just thursday friday saturday okay thursday friday saturday and the the bon put

00:46:09 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 2:

your bon wow thing right happened friday but he didn't show up so up to the events on saturday

00:46:15 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 1:

oh i know i know and it started causing a really big problem because essentially like the third day event was still almost like a mini wedding like there was a cost per head and so when you say that you're going to be there and then you don't show up it wasn't like it was a bar crawl where we're all paying our own tab yeah she had paid for a seat for him to be

00:46:38 - 00:46:48 | Speaker 2:

there to do we uh first off how was uh friday i have fun time okay everything was great was it

00:46:48 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 1:

he had a mustache can you imagine he looked like a firefighter just picture a firefighter really i never thought i would

00:46:57 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 2:

make out with the dude with a mustache but here we are here we are quick quick question uh to to just ask of this um how does it make you feel that he didn't show up the next day does it make you feel great because maybe he was exhausted or does it make you feel like he's ghosting you

00:47:15 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 1:

um a little bit of both i don't think i felt ghosted because i wasn't like because i've heard the time like it wasn't like i've met my soulmate and this is what it is yeah but it was more like we had fun who cares yeah uh and i think he was more embarrassed not by me but by the fact that like i'm a part of the friend group even though i'm not there i'm the friend that comes in and out infrequently oh he was stop i'm questioning so uh these are all of my friends in chicago so i'm not there super often i've been there pretty regularly so i see him a few times throughout the year and uh i think he was more like i can't believe i did that in the friend

00:47:57 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 2:

Here's my question I'm going to throw out, and then you say your comment, because I'm going to have the listeners call up about this. Did Megan and this guy commit a foul by effing in the friend group? Can you eff in the friend group? Can you do this? I'll say yes. Or is that a rule that friend groups, the friend groups should not have any? Because I always felt like whenever I watched Friends back in the day, when those guys would intersperse with each other, it always changed the dynamic of everything. So 844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:48:27 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 3:

You have to be the type of people that can. If you allow it to change the dynamic, then it will. Because I think oftentimes people get weird in those situations. Yep. And they think it has to change. The dynamic being that is has to change, but it really doesn't. So my question, in this situation, did your friends see you guys hanging out and talking? Like was there?

00:48:47 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 1:

Everybody knew when it happened.

00:48:48 - 00:48:48 | Speaker 3:

Gotcha.

00:48:48 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 1:

Before it even happened.

00:48:49 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 3:

Gotcha.

00:48:50 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean?

00:48:50 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So it wasn't like. Wasn't a big deal.

00:48:52 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 1:

And I think that's what the problem is, is I think. And I hope our listeners don't hear it this way. I'm not upset he didn't call me. I'm not upset he didn't text me.

00:49:00 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 3:

Have you talked at all?

00:49:01 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 1:

No. I'm not upset about it. I don't really care. That's weird, though. I'm upset he didn't show up when he said he would.

00:49:07 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:49:07 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 1:

Because then it makes me look bad.

00:49:09 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 3:

So he didn't even come to the wedding.

00:49:11 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 1:

No. All of this happened at the wedding.

00:49:13 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 2:

Actually, okay.

00:49:13 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 1:

Our fun activities happened because of the wedding.

00:49:16 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 2:

Did people know that you guys had hooked up when the event started on Saturday? Or did...

00:49:21 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:49:21 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So they knew... Did they all turn to you and go, what happened?

00:49:25 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

And a lot of them are like, where is he? Okay. And I was like, I don't know. And that is not my, I'm sorry, but that's none of my business. I don't know where he is.

00:49:35 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 2:

Texters here are texting in. This is interesting. One just asked a question and asked and said, Megan, do you feel like he one night stand you?

00:49:48 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but like, I don't care.

00:49:51 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't care. Okay. You know what I mean?

00:49:52 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 1:

Like, I went into it with the expectations of that. You know what I mean?

00:49:57 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 2:

Janelle, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:49:59 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

00:50:00 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:50:00 - 00:50:01 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:50:02 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 4:

I think that you can't, I agree with Kevin. If you don't want to change the dynamic of the friend group, it's fine. I don't know. I think if you're all adults or act like adults, it should be fine. It shouldn't really cause any issues.

00:50:16 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 2:

So it's okay to F in the friend group then? It's okay for these guys to fool around with each other?

00:50:22 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 4:

I'd say yes. My friend group had people that dated each other that didn't work out, but we're all still friends. And so I guess it just depends.

00:50:31 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 2:

Do you have to say, and I don't know if any people have experienced this at all. If you have, I want to hear your personal experience. But do you have to sit there and say before you have sex, which would be weird. This can't change our dynamic of the friend group or afterwards.

00:50:46 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 6:

Which is funny because we did have that conversation. Did you?

00:50:48 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:50:49 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 6:

Did you mention it?

00:50:50 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 4:

I think if you mention it, that might make it weird.

00:50:53 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 2:

Text in 734 says, Megan, have you talked to him since you guys did this? No. Wow. Okay.

00:51:00 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 3:

So that's none of my business. See, the weird thing is this is kind of the perfect situation where even though you're in the same friend group, you guys don't see each other all the time. I know.

00:51:10 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 6:

So it's like, how could it get weird if you don't even see each other? Sam, this could have been best case scenario. Yeah, this is perfect. This could have been infrequent, like quarterly check-ins. Yeah. How you doing? Yes. Let's have some fun. Could it still be? See you in three months? I don't know because he's now ruining the friend group. Like because of his actions, now everybody's pissed.

00:51:27 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 2:

Gabrielle, hi.

00:51:28 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I think you ruined the friend group.

00:51:32 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

00:51:33 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 7:

How did I do it? Shut your door. Put your seatbelt on. Well, you guys ruined it together because there's 50 million people in the world. Yeah. 50 million people in the world. Yeah, but nobody cares that we... And so now there's this awkward dynamic or no dynamic at all, really, is what it sounds like.

00:51:47 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 6:

But nobody cares that we hooked up. That's not the problem. The problem is he made it weird and didn't show up the next day.

00:51:54 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:51:54 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 6:

So that's why we should have picked someone else to do it.

00:51:57 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 2:

Gabrielle.

00:51:57 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 7:

Oh, is that my fault?

00:51:58 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:51:59 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 7:

I showed up. That's true. And we know sometimes we can be a little bit stronger than they can if they're a little weak. So why are you blaming me for his weak behavior?

00:52:09 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 2:

I think she's blaming both.

00:52:10 - 00:52:17 | Speaker 6:

The smart, intellectual woman. Hey, I am not taking the fall for a dumb ass man.

00:52:17 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 2:

Gabrielle, this is giving Megan some great stripes and props because she put it on so great that this guy couldn't show up the next morning.

00:52:25 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 6:

He disappeared. Wrecked him. Exactly. He's just too tired.

00:52:29 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 2:

Are we sure he's alive?

00:52:30 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 6:

And so he proved his weakness. Nope.

00:52:33 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 3:

He could be stupid to me. Wow.

00:52:36 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 2:

Lily, what's happening?

00:52:38 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 3:

Again, not my problem.

00:52:39 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 7:

Here lies. Here I go. First time long time. Hey, first time long time. Yeah, Lily's on the phone.

00:52:47 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 2:

Nice to have you on.

00:52:48 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 7:

So, I'm so glad to be on. I'm on my way to work right now. So, I met my best friend through work. And her husband's friend was in a, like, eight-year-long relationship before this. And there was, like, a whole bunch of details and everything with that. But we met at her son's birthday party, and he thought I was cute. And so we started talking. And then we dated for, like, two months, and then he totally ghosted me and everyone in the friend group.

00:53:27 - 00:53:27 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

00:53:28 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 7:

Now that we're working back together, like, we're working together now, all of us, and now it's just super awkward, and he doesn't even want to talk to us.

00:53:38 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez. Do you feel like you ruined the friend group, or he ruined the friend group?

00:53:43 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 7:

I definitely think that he ruined it, to be honest. I have no, like, hard feelings or anything, but he said that he wanted to make amends with everyone, since he ghosted everyone. Yeah. And he, like, just now did that. And we broke up in, like, February.

00:54:02 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 2:

This is interesting. So it's almost a similar thing that Megan had happen to her. Whitney, you also had a situation like this, too, huh?

00:54:09 - 00:54:10 | Unknown:

Yeah, yeah.

00:54:10 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, your phone's bad there. Are you there?

00:54:13 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Yeah, I did. About 15 years ago, one of my female friends and a couple of my husband's friends at different times, they all, you know, everybody needs to make 50s, you know? So they all hooked up, and our wedding was perfect. They all got a lot. All their stockings were there, so we didn't make anything awkward.

00:54:32 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it actually was not a bad situation then?

00:54:36 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 5:

No, it still is. We still have parties and everything.

00:54:39 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's what normal adults do. This guy obviously is not a normal adult. Adrian, what's up?

00:54:44 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. Megan, you whole wrecker, you. I've spent my life. I'm just speaking from experience. I don't know what's going on with their friends and whatnot. I bet he's seen one of the friends that's in the group since Megan moved out of.

00:55:00 - 00:55:03 | Speaker 2:

So they're not a part of the friend group anymore.

00:55:03 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 1:

So you're thinking that now that he had his fun with Megan, that there may be something in the past that he might have had with the other people?

00:55:10 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:55:11 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 1:

Did anybody act awkward at all in that friend group?

00:55:13 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 3:

No, nobody acted awkward. And everybody knew what had happened before it had happened because I am a good friend. And I cleared the situation room with everybody. We had a debriefing before any action was made.

00:55:28 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 1:

yeah but so everything everything is good i like that some people might say i seeked counsel okay yeah just to make sure yeah good so you have no yeah no bad feelings right now your

00:55:38 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 2:

00:56:41 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 3:

o'clock megan with what's trending what's going on so diddy is about to be hit with a second batch of sexual assault lawsuits including allegations involving the assault of a 13 year old girl A Texas lawyer announced the seven new claims last night, and more than 100 other potential victims have come forward. Two of the new alleged victims were teenagers at the time that they were abused, and four of them are males. The lawsuits are expected to be filed in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan overnight. Their contents should be made public soon after. If so, I will keep you updated with all of those details.

00:57:21 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 1:

And when it rains, it pours for Diddy. I tell you, I wonder when some of this stuff is going to be going to a court. I don't think it's going to be for a long time. This guy's going to be sitting in prison for a while because he keeps getting denied any kind of bail.

00:57:36 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, they had to arrest him at the very beginning of this so that he didn't flee. So I'm guessing it's going to be a while, too. I think you're right. Liam Payne's sister has posted online since the death of her One Direction brother. And it is really heartbreaking, you guys. Her name is Ruth Gibbons, and she posted a pretty long statement on her Insta with several photos of her and her brother. But the really devastating part of the caption was at the very end. She writes, I'm sorry I couldn't save you. In another part of the post, she had, you just wanted to be loved and to make people happy with your music. You never believed you were good enough. I hope you can now see the outpouring of love that you never received in your time. Which is, like I said, gut-wrenching to read the messages from the people that were truly the closest to him, including the mother of his son. She posted about how much she loved him and wanting privacy throughout this whole process for her and her son as well. Because it's just terrible to go through.

00:58:30 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 1:

Did you see all of the tributes that were all over the world? I mean, they had him in London. They had him in New York City. And then what was the, where did he end up dying? It was Argentina.

00:58:42 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 3:

I've got a story about the hotel in Argentina coming up in a later dirty involving some of his family members.

00:58:47 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 1:

There were literally in every city, there were hundreds upon hundreds of people that came out and were doing tributes to Liam.

00:58:55 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. Crazy. So I think we're missing out on a few conversations this year about the Lions that I would like to have now. Let's go. Number one, Jared Goff should be in the conversations involving who the MVP is going to be. And should be talked about as the current best quarterback in the league. Especially the last few weeks. I stand on that wholeheartedly. And it kind of frustrates me. And I think as a lifelong Lions fans, we all know that we kind of get the short end of the stick in these conversations. Even when we're doing well, we're never really included or it's very dismissed as like, well, it's the first time in 80 years. I don't care if it's the first time. He should be included in those conversations. ends, but the one player that we are not hyping up enough. To be fair, Jared Goff gets a lot of love from the city. I think we need to be giving the kicker, Jake Bates, a lot of love. Especially this morning because that win yesterday against the Vikings was 1,000% on his shoulders. After the game, he did get the game ball from Dan Campbell.

00:59:55 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Bates! Mr. Bates, yeah! Mr. Bates, yeah!

01:00:00 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how about the offense getting us in position, man? With like a minute and a half left, getting down there, man. We trust you guys with everything. And then field goal line, man. I really appreciate you guys. And then Hogan and Jack, man.

01:00:14 - 01:00:21 | Speaker 1:

He won his stats. He won the game. They're home this weekend, right? Yes, Titans. So do we get a Jake Bates chant going?

01:00:22 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

01:00:22 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 1:

I think we should.

01:00:24 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 3:

Did you see what they do in practice for him? Dan Campbell talked during the press conference afterwards. They pump the arena full of lots of noise, and then Dan Campbell stands next to him screaming at him while he is trying to kick 40 to 50 to 60-yard field goals. This guy was a USFL player making, I think it was like, what, less than a grand a game back in the day?

01:00:49 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 1:

I think they make like $55 a season.

01:00:52 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 3:

$5,500 or $1,000? $55,000. $55,000, the USFL guys? and you played last hour that he was going to be a brick salesman.

01:01:02 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 1:

He was selling bricks. All white bricks. He was drafted to an NFL team and was let go in the preseason.

01:01:09 - 01:01:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:01:10 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 1:

And then he went to sell bricks and then got the call for this. Seems to be really working out for him now. So I think we should just get a Jake Bates chant going. All right.

01:01:19 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 3:

Jake Bates. Jake Bates. I'm just saying. Jake Bates. Do the Jared Goff. Do the Jared Goff. Start with Jared Goff.

01:01:25 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, let's give some Jake Bates left, too.

01:01:27 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 3:

Kickers, too. That's like the most lonely job ever as a kicker.

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 2:

Until it's all on your leg.

01:01:34 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:01:34 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 1:

Matt Prater was a great kicker for us.

01:01:37 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:01:37 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 1:

As long as it was over 40 yards. If it was under, it was a little risky.

01:01:41 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 2:

Here's a quick fact, though. This is something that popped up on the Googles. The last time the Lions beat a 5-0 team was exactly 50 years to the date yesterday. And that 5-0 team was who? Minnesota Vikings. The Minnesota Vikings. Oh, look at that. Hold on.

01:01:56 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 1:

History repeats itself. Do you guys know? What do I get?

01:01:58 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 2:

You get another bill. Thank you.

01:02:00 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 1:

Who number one in the NFC North is? Oh, I think we do. Oh, that would be the Lions. Do you know who's number one in the NFC? I think we do. Oh, that would be the Lions. Do we know who's number two in the league overall? Yeah. The Lions! Yeah. All right. That's all I want to say. Okay. Jennifer Lawrence is officially expecting baby number two with her husband, Cook Marooney. A picture had been posted with Jennifer and her baby bump, and her rep did confirm she is, in fact, expecting, again, she does have a two-year-old son named Cy. That's pretty much the only information we know about her two-year-old, so don't expect any information on this pregnancy. We don't have a due date. We don't have a gender, a name, anything like that, because she's incredibly private when it comes to her personal life. But congratulations to her. Baby number two is a-coming.

01:02:47 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 2:

Candace.

01:02:48 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 1:

Cy and Candace, is that what you think it's going to be? You're just calling it now?

01:02:51 - 01:02:54 | Speaker 2:

I need the name to be Candice. All right. Everdeen, if you're nasty.

01:02:54 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 1:

Put some money on it. Candice Everdeen, her name was Katniss in that movie.

01:02:58 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 2:

I don't think you can name a daughter Katniss. I'm just going to meet her halfway.

01:03:02 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 1:

So you're just going to go pretty similar to an iconic date. Got it. Got it.

01:03:06 - 01:03:07 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to get teased.

01:03:07 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 1:

Check out all of today's dirties by catching up on the Mojo in the Morning podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

She chaperones all the rest of us the rest of the week. A chapel. Yeah. I like chaperone now for chaperone. Cav, almost a fire at the crib. It was a fire. Do I sound like you? I almost had a fire at the crib. You can't put the emphasis on it like that, but yeah, just let it roll off.

01:04:59 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, literally.

01:05:00 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 1:

it wasn't almost it was a definite fire so um happy birthday to uh cherelle's aunt kathy aunt kathy was celebrating a birthday and cherelle was going to the birthday party and she was getting ready and a part of her getting ready she was straightening her hair before she was about to curl it and do whatever she was gonna do to it and she was using a hot comb now if you don't know what a hot comb is hot comb is like a regular comb but it's metal but it's hot and it's hot Basically.

01:05:28 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I don't know a hot comb because I've never used a hot comb, and I don't think Chelsea's used it. She's used curling irons and stuff.

01:05:34 - 01:05:35 | Speaker 3:

They're not made for your hair.

01:05:35 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 2:

They're made for?

01:05:36 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 3:

Hot cones don't move made for your hair? Not our hair.

01:05:38 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh, got you. Okay.

01:05:40 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. It's made for hair, not ours.

01:05:43 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 1:

Ah, yeah, for a different type of hair. So, Sheree.

01:05:47 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 3:

I love black people! You'll be bald.

01:05:49 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 1:

So, look, so this is how she do it. So, in order to heat up the hot comb, you got to put it on the stove. so you heat up the stove you lay the metal hot comb on it and then it'll get hot okay you take the hot comb off the stove and use that to straighten your hair so sherelle is putting the hot comb on the stove letting it get hot and she's going back and forth from the stove to the bathroom and straighten her hair and do everything she got to do so i'm sitting on the couch chilling josiah walked past he like it's on fire it's on fire i'm like what is going on then i start to smoke then the microwave little automatic fan come on because i guess it recognizes that smoke's in the air and it goes that's nice that's very nice it came with the place it goes i turn around it's literally on fire so the hot comb has like a rubber handle that i guess cherelle didn't make sure that the rubber handle the rubber handle wasn't on the hot part of the stove so the rubber handle is now on fire cherelle walks in like this is a normal thing she's like oh it's okay I don't even I don't know how she put out the fire. I don't know if she was water. I don't know if she's the towel. I don't know what happened.

01:06:59 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Explain women to us. I would be running out of the house. I would stop, drop and roll.

01:07:06 - 01:07:08 | Speaker 3:

That's how you lose a whole house. I got it. I got it.

01:07:10 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 2:

I have you should. She's amazing. That's that's like, by the way, unbelievable. She was so calm and just put it right.

01:07:17 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 1:

It had to have happened to her before because I don't know how you see a hot comb on fire. Like, you can literally see it's ablaze. It wasn't like some little baby fire. It was enough to make the microwave go off. In my mind, that's a real fire.

01:07:29 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 2:

So, quick question. Is this something that is common of hot combs, where hot combs start on fire?

01:07:36 - 01:07:39 | Speaker 1:

I've never seen a hot comb on fire, though. That I'll say.

01:07:39 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 2:

I have to yell at Chelsea all the time over the fact that she leaves her curling iron plugged in. And she has told me before that, oh, well, they'll just automatically go off at a certain time. I'm like, I don't trust that stuff. I don't trust that either. I don't trust any kind of a thing. You ever leave your curling iron just plugged right in, man?

01:07:54 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, it depends because some of them are made where they have like an automatic shutoff.

01:07:59 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:07:59 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 3:

I do not have a single piece of hot equipment that has that feature, so I'm shocked I have not burned a house down. I will tell you the most terrifying thing that I have ever done was I accidentally left a straightener on for an entire weekend when we went on a trip, and I know my dad is listening right now, so I'm so sorry, Scott Mick. Don't worry. the house on spruce wood didn't burn down but that's why there was a burn in the carpet that you kept asking about was it wasn't setting like girls know this you can set your straightener like up and it still gets hot but like the hot plates aren't touching anything like the plastic will get so hot that that gets the floor warm but i left it on and like laying down so that both the hot plates were touching the carpet have no idea how the house was standing when we got home three Three days later.

01:08:43 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's crazy.

01:08:45 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Three days. Three days.

01:08:47 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 2:

Damn, you are lucky.

01:08:48 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:08:49 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Firefighter Bill would not be happy if you guys are pulling all stuff. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What did you do that almost started or did start the fire? I feel like we're going to get a phone call here from the fire marshal. And he's not going to be happy with us. You know what I mean? We're going to get ourselves into a little bit of trouble for this. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. Did Sherelle learn her lesson? Did you have to give her a talking to after this?

01:09:30 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 1:

I think this is par for the course. This is every day for her.

01:09:35 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:09:35 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 1:

She kind of knows what she's doing.

01:09:37 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that part of her coolness of doing this was the fact that she just didn't want you to give her a lecture afterwards?

01:09:47 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think I was in her mind at all, to be honest with you. Really? She was just walking around in her robe doing her hair, and this was just regularly scheduled. This is just how it goes? I've never seen a hot cone catch on fire, though. I've seen my mom, my cousins, my grandma. I don't know what happened to Sherelle, but she didn't recognize what was going on. We almost paid the price. Catherine, what's going on?

01:10:09 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm calling about the house getting set on fire.

01:10:12 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes, what was it?

01:10:13 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 2:

We left savvy slider boxes on the stove, and we ran to the store quick. And when we came back, the stove was on fire because our dog was trying to jump up there and grab them.

01:10:27 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

01:10:28 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 2:

And so when he was jumping up there, he started the sparker on the stove.

01:10:33 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 1:

You always end up hearing these stories about the dog that starts the fire. That doesn't ever surprise me that that happens with dogs jumping up on, you know, stoves and stuff like that. It's not a good thing.

01:10:45 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the whole house was full of smoke and we had to replace the top of the stove.

01:10:50 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 1:

By the way, it's worth it for Savvy Sliders though, isn't it?

01:10:54 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 2:

It was so worth it.

01:10:55 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's just something about them. Jackie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

01:11:01 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 3:

First time, long time. Hey there. Yeah, Jackie's on the phone.

01:11:05 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 1:

It took us talking about, you almost burned the...

01:11:07 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 3:

I heard Kevin say it. Oh my God, I lied. Oh. But I just wanted to hear Kevin say that. But no, my mother, she burned a pot of grease. We lived in an apartment in Southfield. And our apartment door, the fire extinguisher was right outside our apartment door. I'm in my room. She's in her room. We're getting ready. All of a sudden, my cousin comes and says, the kitchen's on fire. Just as calm, we run in there. I told my mother, go get the fire extinguisher while I get the kids out of the apartment. He comes back and says, what do I do? It says, break the glass. I'm like, break the glass. By this time, the fire is on the ceiling, on the counter. We had to call 911. They had to come out with the fire out. I was so glad they got there when they did because we were not the only unit in the surrounding

01:11:56 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm telling you, don't you remember when you were a kid and they would do those tests in school where you had to, like, get out of school fast when they did the fire alarms? Yeah, you got to practice that in your home, too. You got to learn.

01:12:16 - 01:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

01:12:17 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 1:

You got to keep calm. I'm the one that's just like you. I get all crazy. Chelsea would have to put out the fire by herself. What's up, Jasmine?

01:12:26 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so I just was calling to say that Cam is tripping. Like, the hot comb catching on fire is part of the routine. That's how you know that it's really ready. You use a paper towel, wipe it on there, and that's how you know if it's ready for your hair. Wait, I thought it was a white towel.

01:12:49 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 1:

It's probably a paper towel.

01:12:50 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Or a white towel. A white towel or a pip towel.

01:12:53 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay. it has to be a different way for you to tell it's hot though having it on fire can't be the

01:12:59 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 4:

it's ready that was the crazy part about hearing about what are those uh do you know the name of the the curlers that are used the same way as a hot comb it's the the um hot and gold okay so the first time i saw somebody use them and they say you know it's ready to use when it burns the towel i was like how is that the indicator how is that wait what that doesn't

01:13:20 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Hold on. I'm going to call up a buddy of ours. I'm calling Chief James Harris from the Detroit Fire Department right now. Sexiest fireman in Detroit. You can get him on the phone with us right now. I want him to give Shirell a citation.

So right before throwback throwdown, we'll pick the grand prize winner. Hang on the phone, all right? Thanks. All right. It's Mojo on the morning show. I'm going to have Lydia come in from the other room where she answers phones and screens calls, and I'm going to have her do the next topic here on this show. Uh, Lydia rekindled an old relationship and now she's willing to talk about it on the air because she said that this is a way to cleanse your soul. I feel like I should put on my Pope costume for this one here so that you can confess to, to father Mojo on this.

01:16:18 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 1:

Confess.

01:16:19 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 2:

That's right.

01:16:20 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:16:21 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Lydia?

01:16:22 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, father, forgive me for I've sinned. Let's start with that.

01:16:25 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 2:

What happened?

01:16:26 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Um, so for some time now, I've been in contact with a guy that you guys know, um, and I wanted to rekindle this relationship with him.

01:16:40 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh no.

01:16:41 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 1:

No. I know. And before you guys judge me, cause this is what I'm most nervous about. I love this guy so much that I was willing to try again with him.

01:16:54 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh my goodness. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Really?

01:17:00 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But unfortunately, it's like when you are going back to the same thing that hurt you, you're only going to get the same outcome. And that's what happened to me. So last Saturday, you know, I was spending time by myself and I was supposed to hang out with this said guy. And he canceled on me for family reasons, which I understood. but that night I had the courage to tell him I don't want to do life completely by myself I want to have a companion someone that I can share life with someone I can get married to and someone I can have kids with and as I was telling him this I felt like he had no interest in what I was saying whatsoever and he's like we will talk about this tomorrow and I was like okay next day comes everything's fine it's going good and then he lays it down on me later on in the day over text telling me that he doesn't think he'll be able to get married in the time span that I want to get married in and that he needs to let me go instead of working on things which really upset me as you guys saw on Monday morning I was a mess but look at us a week later guys wow and you're able to

01:18:07 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 2:

talk about it sometimes sometimes you need to have a little bit of that week just to kind of pull things together can we ask questions uh absolutely so you got a hotel room because you

01:18:19 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 1:

were going to hook up with this guy no i was not going to hook up with him we were just going to go out to dinner by the way i never hooked up with this guy i want to make it well known okay why don't you need a hotel no i was spending the weekend by myself like i just was doing a staycation but he was going to come okay okay okay

01:18:33 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 2:

we got lydia in here too and we got the guy that we all don't want her to hang out with all right with enough of that um okay so lydia first off yes mojo we're not going to judge you because everybody has a moment of weakness but um we don't necessarily want you to you know ever be unhappy and not share with us but you took a week to tell us on this because you were just feeling that it was too fresh to talk about yeah and i didn't know if

01:19:28 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 1:

i could keep my feelings together like i had posted a tiktok and it was about me being sad and then i realized a couple days in that i was getting less sad and less sad and it took a full circle for me to be like you know what i'm that girl and i don't need to be upset like you don't want to be in my life and you don't see me as your wife god bless you and i hope you find your wife but i just know that i should have been that one yeah and you just got to move with grace

01:19:55 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

yeah sometimes i feel like when you get your heart broken or

01:20:00 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 1:

you have a vision that your life is going to look a certain way and it doesn't it leaves this hole and the easiest way to fill that hole is with the thing that was once there and i think that's why we reach out to that because yeah it created the hole and i want that piece to be there but

01:20:20 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 6:

and it left for a reason and when you reached out to him obviously you thought things were going to be good you thought that his feelings were also going to be the same this was someone

01:20:29 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 2:

that i i thought even though we've been through so much i was like i actually want to marry you like i want to make things work with you you know you choose your person and that's somebody that you trust and you love regardless of what you've been through you just feel it and i was like this is who i i do want to be with in the end but i guess he just didn't feel the same i give okay

01:20:50 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 6:

i give him credit though because he had you in a very vulnerable situation and he could have easily

01:20:57 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 2:

led you down that path of messing with your heart of course he said that he's like i just don't want

01:21:05 - 01:21:15 | Speaker 6:

to disappoint you and for that i respect him which i i will tell you this i think majority of guys would have would have just you know smaster look to you as prey you know yeah don't

01:21:15 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 1:

you agree most guys i know for sure for sure for sure for sure that was a very grown-up thing that

01:21:22 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 6:

he did and so props to you man that I don't want Lydia to be with I wish that he had picked up the

01:21:28 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

phone and called me or met me up in person because I feel like what we've been through is so much more than just an over text thing and to let me go like you don't care which is what he did yeah made me feel kind of low how many times has this conversation been had he's done this to me five times like this is like his fifth time telling me he doesn't want to disappoint me if he can't marry me but then also telling me he can't live without me which doesn't make sense to me but he said we can still be best friends which i declined were those in-person conversations um rarely it was very rare where there's probably two times where he's told me that and that's when we've been on our off time so it's like off and on off and on for years and eventually it's i guess it just got

01:22:10 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 6:

exhausting okay he only has the strength over tax it seems like yeah to do it well she just said

01:22:15 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 2:

they did it sometimes in person there was twice or he's probably done that i would say

01:22:19 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 6:

um comment from brianna on this lydia just shared with us uh something very personal brianna you

01:22:26 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 4:

want what did you want to say i just wanted to say in the great words of steve harvey harvey don't let a man tell you twice that he don't want you you are so much more worth more than anything else yeah and don't ever go back because it's never good it's rough

01:22:49 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 6:

lydia could you ever see yourself taking him back if he did say all right now i'm ready

01:22:55 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 2:

but i don't know if i believe that like do i believe that you're ready for the sixth time do i believe that you love me and you won't leave me i don't know uh mike what's going on

01:23:07 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going, guys? I got some advice for Lydia. I know it's hard. It is very hard when you feel that way. But I've learned the hard way in these situations. You got to let this situation happen. You know, can't go out searching for it. Because when you search for it, all the wrong things happen. You got to let what happens naturally be the best thing for you.

01:23:28 - 01:23:29 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:23:29 - 01:24:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, and we all know Lydia, right? You know Lydia. You're a listener of the show. You've been here for a while. she deserves the best and amen and for her to to think that this guy's going to come around would be settling lydia and as your brothers and sisters and fathers and all the other people like that we want to be to you we want we want you to know that there is the right the best out there for you and you just got to understand that and understand i know you're a woman of faith a strong woman of faith you gotta understand that god already knows who it is it's already somebody walking around right now you know amen so i i love that you called thanks so much for that mike what's up

01:24:12 - 01:24:26 | Speaker 5:

melissa okay i have a quote because lydia is a person of faith this is what you need to remember god will block your value from people who are not assigned to your destiny lydia everything

01:24:26 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 6:

happens for a reason god has a plan for you yeah thanks how do you feel like last weekend was for her don't you think last weekend was a good growth moment for her instead of exactly like yeah and i know you were torn up i mean i could see it on your face when you came in here on monday i mean you are not the the lydia that we know and love can i tell you something about that is i was just

01:24:47 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

going to try to ride it out i wasn't going to share it with anybody i was going to deal with it in silence and I couldn't do it like my heart was hurting so bad and I'm like Lydia you can do this but you have to share with the people who love you and who you love

01:25:00 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 1:

how does it feel that you shared it it feels so much better and i have like a huge amount of support around me including you guys and my family my friends and it's been it's been pretty comforting because it's like there's so many people that care about you you don't have to

01:25:14 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 5:

focus on the one who doesn't you know it's wild listeners were saying last week when they were calling you that you sounded off yeah and they that's just from them talking to you on hold

01:25:24 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 1:

yeah and that's what would make me cry behind phones is when they could see that i couldn't put on a smile for them because that's my biggest goal. And that's what I pray for every day is to make everyone's day that I talk to at least in a positive impact. And I couldn't do it that well

01:25:37 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 5:

last week. Ellie, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Lydia just admitted something very, very hard for her to do, but she did an amazing job doing it. What do you want to say about this?

01:25:49 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Lydia, I don't want to take away from the fact that you're incredibly strong to even, you know come on and share all of this so that i mean to you honestly to even share it i give you mad props seriously um but one thing i did want to say though is that i think experience has shown everybody that men typically know fairly quickly you know if they want to marry a woman or not and i think they they let that be known so if they don't you know so i think you're very smart in how you've you know went about it with what happened because i think men again i think they just know very quickly and they they will definitely let that be known so if he if he was if he said what he said about the opposite or if he just hasn't let on about marriage or you know you being the one then you're definitely doing the right thing and i don't think you should

01:26:35 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 5:

revisit it i'm telling you i give him a lot of credit because i know a lot of guys that don't let you know and then they just they like the comfort of having somebody there and then they have another 12 other people with them too but i mean the actions will speak louder than the words

01:26:49 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 4:

will just when they show you you got to believe them yeah and not try to make excuses for their

01:26:53 - 01:27:07 | Speaker 3:

behavior yeah that's what man is exactly yep so kudos to him too as well because he was definitely honest and men will do that who do do that you have to respect that yep thank you for the call

01:27:07 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 5:

uh brian what's up it's mojo in the morning how are you doing today what's going on i just i think

01:27:14 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 2:

And I think he's disrespecting her by keeping doing this to her. I mean, five times. You've got to start taking and looking at the way he's treating you by his actions. And you're allowing him to do this by coming back to him every time he does this to you. So you've got to respect yourself enough now to move past it and find somebody who's actually going to back his words up and be there for you and not keep on leaving and coming back and leaving and coming back. It's not fair to you. It's not fair to your heart.

01:27:53 - 01:27:54 | Speaker 1:

It's not at all.

01:27:55 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And you know what? We're going to find that person for her this Friday at our Mojo in the Morning booze and baddies party that we're having our halloween party what are you gonna be dressed i'm bringing more chaldean you should see all the chaldean buddies of mine for real i'm coming i got the boys from the uh the golf course you got a buffet for you i do jake and noble showing up on friday

01:28:17 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 4:

they're coming out to hang out he did tell me to move on so that's right we're moving you on

01:28:25 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 5:

it's gonna be fun lydia i'm proud of you but i am also i am also uh proud of him i know this sounds weird to say this because i did not expect that of this man so i say to you man who i do not like lydia hanging uh out with uh because you uh you hurt her uh very much i um i lost your mind yeah i say to you that uh i'm proud of you for being grown up about this because you had a vulnerable lydia that you could have taken advantage i disagree with you you know i'm not

01:29:02 - 01:29:28 | Speaker 4:

proud of yeah same i'm really angry you said that why because i think if you i wish i could cuss same i think if you see a piece of spit sitting in the toilet and it keeps telling you it's a piece of spit you don't need them to tell you it you can see it in the toilet so for him to have done this five or six times and like i'm telling you this isn't the first time he's apologized and said this before am i right yes okay so why are we applauding his but he could have shown up at

01:29:28 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 5:

the hotel and had a great weekend. They ain't done it before. Well, but he could have done that. No, she wasn't about to smash him. No, I know, but I'm saying that he could have done that.

01:29:36 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't respect him. He's still a piece of dump. He's going to continue to be that. He shouldn't be applauded for that.

01:29:41 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 1:

That's someone I loved, so that's why I kept going back, and I guess I just have to move forward. Yes. So, moving on.

01:29:49 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 5:

To Noble and... To Jake. Jake. Put your hands together. Everybody grab hands. Everybody grab hands.

01:29:54 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

My hands are sweating. No, it's so hot here. Everybody grab his. Come on, Ray. Come on.

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 5:

If you love Lydia, you'll do it. All right, here we go.

01:30:01 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 1:

My hands are so sweaty. I'm doing this for you. I'm doing this for you. It's so gross.

01:30:05 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 5:

We're going to say a quick prayer for Lydia. Are we ready? Yes, we are.

01:30:08 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Isha'u'mari amu'mari yusuf. Ala'ani, bratham, abdiya, we need pain and suffering.

01:30:17 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 5:

Amen. Amen. All right. We love you, Lydia.

01:30:20 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 2:

Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

01:30:21 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 5:

We love you.

01:30:23 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:30:26 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 5:

All right, time now for the second date update. Why are you not getting a call? We're going to find out this morning here on the show. If you are not getting a call back after you've gone out on a couple, one or two dates, who knows? Or it could be like a long-term relationship. Text DATE to 95500 and we'll get you on the show. Sarah is on with us right now. Sarah, you're getting ghosted. What's happening?

01:30:50 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you?

01:30:53 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 5:

We're doing good. So, Sarah, tell us about the person that's ghosting you. and then we'll find out some answers for you um how'd you guys meet um we met on one of the apps okay and have you guys been talking for a while uh yeah i guess we talked for like

01:31:13 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 3:

a week week and a half and then we um went out for dinner and uh we had a really great time and I thought everything was good and now I haven't heard from him and I'm bummed about it.

01:31:34 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 5:

Okay, let's find out what's going on here, okay? Jeremy is on the phone with us right now. Jeremy, will you say hello to Sarah?

01:31:41 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Sarah. Oh, hi.

01:31:45 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Jeremy. So Sarah says that you guys met, like everybody does, that you guys have been talking like everybody does? You guys went on a date like everybody does? And then you stopped calling her like it seems like everybody does. What's going on? Have you just been busy and just haven't had an opportunity to call her or what's going on?

01:32:06 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I've been pretty busy, so I just haven't really been able to call her. But, you know, it was fine.

01:32:15 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 5:

It was fine, meaning the date was fine?

01:32:18 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah it was It was alright We had a good time But you know I've been busy Haven't really been able to Have time to call her back

01:32:28 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 5:

That just doesn't seem like It's the full answer Sounds to me like You're only giving us Partial answer

01:32:37 - 01:32:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah I mean The only thing was She had a wedding ring on Which was kind of weird

01:32:45 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 2:

well now I'm on your side

01:32:48 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 3:

yeah so I'm a widow and my husband passed away and I'm sorry thank you

01:33:02 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 5:

how long ago did your husband pass away

01:33:04 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 2:

five years

01:33:06 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 5:

oh man

01:33:08 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 2:

by the way back on your side

01:33:10 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 5:

so your husband

01:33:13 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 3:

passed your husband died and you still wear the wedding ring yeah you know um it's just been very hard to take off i finally started dating again that i'm so used to it on my hand and uh you know i'm i'm figuring out how to how to move forward and trying to date and i really like this guy And I didn't know if just the fact that I was a widow totally freaked him out.

01:33:44 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but don't you think by wearing the ring and not addressing it, it's just going to lead to problems like this? Because I think if you bring up, I'm a widow, I'm still uncomfortable taking this off. That's a way more reasonable than somebody showing up and not addressing the ring on their hand.

01:34:02 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, I had told him.

01:34:05 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you told him. So you told him about the ring on the day.

01:34:08 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we talked about it.

01:34:09 - 01:34:09 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:34:09 - 01:34:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so Jeremy, so she told you about losing her husband, and you still had kind of an issue with her wearing the ring?

01:34:20 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry her husband died, but that was five years ago. Oh, don't do that.

01:34:28 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

01:34:31 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 4:

I mean, she's still holding on to feelings. It's just, I mean, it was five years ago.

01:34:37 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 5:

But this is also her husband. and this is somebody that she loved. And I think, have you ever lost anybody in your life? I mean, you lose a loved one, you never forget.

01:34:49 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I'm not wearing a ring about it or going out on dates and still bringing it up.

01:34:57 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 5:

But I got to tell you.

01:35:00 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 2:

tell you, Jeremy, and I don't know if you necessarily mean it the way that you mean it because it comes off a little harsh. But when you lose somebody, even in breakups, you see people lose people in breakups and it's tough. But to lose somebody in death like this, I can not even imagine how hard that must be for Sarah. And if she's just wearing the symbol of that, which is the ring, she's at least getting back on her two feet and going out on dates with you.

01:35:30 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 3:

yeah i mean i get what you're saying but i i mean it just doesn't seem like she's moved on so i don't even know if she's ready to date do you feel like you're ready to date sir

01:35:44 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 8:

i mean obviously you're out on a date yeah uh how many dates have you been on on that hand uh i've been on like three or four i guess have anybody that you've gone

01:35:59 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 2:

on a date with had any other concerns like this or is this the jeremy's the only one

01:36:04 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 8:

uh he's he's the big one so far um the others i think we just kind of didn't feel sparky when we were together but i thought he and i had a really nice conversation in time and then i just didn't hear from it all which you know maybe dating has changed i haven't done it in a long

01:36:24 - 01:36:38 | Speaker 1:

time well i wouldn't know he's a douche but just so i'm clear sarah you knew the ring you knew you had the ring on and you decided to keep it on right you didn't yeah i didn't i wasn't like

01:36:38 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 8:

hiding anything um we talked about you know that my husband had passed away on the date and uh and i had the ring on honestly i've always worn a ring on my left hand that's just what's comfortable and so i guess it's a little bit of a security blanket but did you ever consider did

01:36:57 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 1:

you ever consider not to wear it on the date like obviously you know i can i can only imagine what you're experiencing and i'm not telling you not to feel that but if you're going on a date did you ever consider that maybe the ring could potentially not allow anybody to make a real connection because they could think that you're still you know some way involved with your but

01:37:16 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 5:

aren't you always going to be that way involved with somebody i just because you're wearing the ring doesn't mean you're not ready to date and experience new love and affection and partnership you can still say i loved this person i miss this person and i want companionship in my life i don't feel like it's one or the it's not like you wear the ring and you're still attached to that person and then you take the ring off and you're not attached to that person and you're moving on i just don't see what the big deal is i just think symbolism matters yeah like if you wear if you're

01:37:45 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 4:

wearing a ring it means you're married yeah symbolism oh i don't know i don't know if you're wearing a wedding ring with a big rock on it i don't know it just i know girls who wear their

01:37:54 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 5:

grandmother's wedding rings and it's just a way to feel close to the person that you have loved

01:37:59 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 2:

lindsey what are your thoughts lindsey it's mojo on the morning second date update

01:38:03 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 9:

hi hun first time long time hey there my thing is is what if she had a tattoo that symbolized, you know, her ex-husband, you know, her widow.

01:38:20 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:38:20 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 9:

It's still her husband.

01:38:22 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 2:

I mean, no, I agree with you. Yeah, there's other symbolisms, and he's going to have a hard time with that. Would you have had a hard time if she had a tattoo, Jeremy?

01:38:32 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

That's different. A tattoo is just on you. The ring, you have the choice. You can take it off. Exactly.

01:38:39 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 4:

She's making the active choice to put the ring on. And it just seems like she is not ready to move on.

01:38:49 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 9:

But it's just part of her.

01:38:51 - 01:38:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't think those are mutually exclusive things.

01:38:53 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 2:

Jen, what are your thoughts? Second date update.

01:38:56 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say Jeremy could have just asked, but didn't Sarah just say that they talked about her husband passing away during the date?

01:39:03 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 2:

They did, yeah. And she talked about the ring.

01:39:07 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 6:

As a married person, I feel naked when I don't have my ring on. I like freak out. I feel like I'm missing something, you know, so I don't know. I feel like maybe possibly maybe try to put it on a necklace or something if you think it's going to create problems in the future. But obviously, this guy is just not the one.

01:39:31 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 2:

Christina, what's up?

01:39:33 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 7:

Hi. So he has every right to feel like a little uncomfortable with it, thinking maybe she hasn't moved on. that's fine but the way that he's reacting to it like he's like it was five years ago like dude it wasn't a breakup a person passed away you know what i mean get over i know yeah and he's so

01:39:53 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 2:

crazy i hate his voice too okay thank you for the call

01:40:00 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 4:

Christina. Allen, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:40:03 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys.

01:40:03 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 4:

First time caller.

01:40:04 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 1:

Hey, buddy. Hey, Elizabeth Foe. I just want to say this guy is a sensitive jerk. My wife, before we got together, her husband had passed away from brain cancer. And they had a son together. And I still embrace him to this day. Like, I get emotional thinking about this. Like, this dude's straight up, you know, I don't even want to say what he is. But, like, you know, you can't just move on. Like, you have to keep his memory alive any way you can. So for this guy to be that insensitive about it, he's going to be a part of her life, the rest of her life.

01:40:34 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 4:

And, Alan, I'm assuming that you know that your wife loves you, but you also know that she loved her husband.

01:40:43 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't try to compare it. Like, it's two different things. Like, you know, like, so we have, you know, she has a son who actually just asked me to adopt him recently. That's awesome. That's great. And, like, it's, like, we still have their wedding picture up in his bedroom. Oh, man. I still talk about his dad with him daily.

01:40:59 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 4:

It's just ridiculous. What can you say to Sarah that would make her feel better after getting rejected like this?

01:41:06 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 1:

Just move on. This guy's a jerk. He did her a favor by showing his true colors right away.

01:41:11 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 4:

And there are good guys out there like yourself.

01:41:13 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate that.

01:41:15 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, buddy. Appreciate it.

01:41:16 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 1:

She'll find somebody better.

01:41:18 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 4:

Sarah, I wish you nothing but the best. I think that you will find somebody that you can bring into your life that is somebody that's going to fill that broken heart that you have right now, but you don't have to give up your husband for that.

01:41:33 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much.

01:41:36 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 4:

And, Jeremy, I think that it would have been straight on just cool to just call her back and just say, hey, you know what? I'm going to move past this and just move on.

01:41:46 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'll do that next time.

01:41:49 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

All right. Well, thanks. Second date update. This is the home of the dirty of the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update and more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Man, we've been more than an hour without a commercial break. That means an hour without a political ad. Doesn't that sound good?

01:42:12 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 6:

I have two political stories this journey.

01:42:15 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

Why would you bring that up? Give them to me, Megan. Megan, I don't know if you know this, but I was raised in a middle class family. Let me tell you.

01:42:22 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 6:

Shut up. Shut up. We'll get into it in a second. We're going to start with non-politics. Shawn Mendes decided to take a pause during a show in New York City on Friday night to pay tribute to Liam Payne. Now, if you're a fan of either of these two, can somebody please clarify? Because I couldn't find any information on this. Were they close when Liam was alive? I did not realize they had a connection. I could not find a connection online between the two of them. But he took a moment to talk about the news of Liam passing.

01:42:47 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 3:

it's about grieving those we miss the tears and it's also about celebrating them who they were and what they've left in this world man i just want to take a second to send so much love to him wherever he is up there and the world is crying for you brother and we're all praying for your son and your family

01:43:25 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 6:

okay hear me out all right and let me just ask questions i'm not making accusations i'm asking questions he did that speech and then he dedicated the next song which happens to be his new song that he's promoting heart of gold to Liam and the lyrics of the chorus of our have you had a heart of gold you left too soon it was out of your control underneath your skin and bone you had a

01:43:53 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 5:

heart of gold interesting is that a good choice or a bad choice I'm asking do we think that was an authentic thing I don't know or was this a great way to get a viral video promoting his new

01:44:05 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 4:

song that's what I wonder I would hate for him to go out like that I'm just asking questions I

01:44:10 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 6:

didn't say you did i agree it just seems slightly suspicious yeah definitely just slightly but i'm not who's to say not me uh donald trump got behind the fire at a mcdonald's in the suburbs of philly just to troll kamala harris trump said uh i'm looking for a job and i've always wanted to work at mcdonald's but i never did i'm running against somebody that said she did but it turned out to be a totally phony story now if you're wondering

01:44:36 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 2:

it's an amazing business it's an amazing country and we're going to make america greater than ever before tell us about getting started in your own career mr president how did you tell us about those jobs that people take early on to try to make a break and how you did it this is a great

01:44:48 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 4:

job to take in the beginning it requires expertise i'm going through the french fry stuff as a whole

01:44:55 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

what have you learned did you learn anything new and it requires great expertise actually

01:45:00 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 1:

Do you appreciate McDonald's more? Now, if you're wondering why he's doing this, why is he working at a McDonald's? Why is he saying that Kamala Harris never did work at a McDonald's? The Washington Free Beacon had a copy of her resume from 1987 that she used to apply for a position at the Almeida County District Attorney's Office, where her work experience was listed as an internship with former Senator Alan Cranston, a student assistant position in the public affairs office at the federal trade commission and a summer clerkship at a san francisco law firm which why would you include a fast food job on an application for a legal job when you have experience in illegal positions but that where is where donald trump is coming with all of this saying that she never did it is because

01:45:45 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 2:

this newspaper says that she never did by the way amazing he was able to fix the ice cream machine at the same time that he was in there doing the fry machine. Ronald McDonald? You don't get McDonald's without McDonald's, right? I guess so. Megan, come on. How about a little smooch?

01:46:04 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 1:

Do you want me to continue? No.

01:46:07 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 2:

Next story.

01:46:08 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so there seems to be some perks of being a campaign staffer if you enjoy certain celebrities, right? Which just happened for some of the staff working on Kamala Harris' campaign. I thought we did a story about Donald. Let's hear a story about Kamala Harris. They met on Friday for an all-staff Zoom call. Apparently, the staff has been working like 15 hours a day. They were super drained. And Katy Perry joined in on the Zoom call to encourage workers to keep going. I'm sorry. I'm working 15-hour days. Katy Perry is not doing it for me on the Zoom call. Is that it? No, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Maybe that's me. Maybe somebody wants me. I don't know what. Katy Perry, make the calls yourself. Don't tell me to keep going. Katy Perry and a pizza party. Great job. Right, right, right, right. They were talking about how Katy Perry knew Kamala Harris ever since she was a senator in California. It's California girls. That's a connection there. Come on. It's like I think about this. That was good. Yeah. Rallying moment. The election being just days away. Keep working those long ass days while I go back to my regular life is the vibe I got. But whatever.

01:47:14 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 2:

Only two weeks and a day until election day. Isn't that crazy? I can't wait. 15 days. and then it's all over.

01:47:22 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 1:

Just want to be done. One more? Yes. Okay, so there are some rumors out there that Amazon is looking for actors for a one-year deal to play the leads of the show Mr. and Mrs. Smith in their 20s during season two.

01:47:36 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 2:

That Brad Pitt and Angelina Jones

01:47:38 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 1:

the remix version. So they made it into a television show. Season one came out in February I believe. Season two was greenlit and they want some actors in their 20s to play the main characters just for a single season. Well, guess who's being rumored to be part of these discussions? Billie Eilish, which kind of makes sense because she made her acting debut in Swarm, which was also on Prime and also co-created by Donald Glover. So all this kind of makes sense. It all makes sense. Yeah. Check out all today's dirties by catching up on the Mojo in the Morning podcast.

01:48:14 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 2:

Is she a good actress? She was good in that Swarm. She was really good at her. I didn't even know that was her. I had to go Google it, and I'm like, oh, snap, she's good at this. Yeah. All right.

01:48:22 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 1:

And you know what? She's not here today, but I have to say it. Shannon has been asking us to watch a show on Netflix for weeks.

01:48:29 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:48:30 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 1:

I don't know the title of it really quickly. Nobody Wants This with Kristen Bell. She's been begging us all to watch it. It's such a good show. Okay. It might be my new favorite show, and I'm only going to say this because Shannon's not here, so she doesn't get the credit and she doesn't know that I'm appreciative of her. It is a very good show.

01:48:48 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 2:

Can I shout out a show too? Yes. Chimp Crazy. Oh my God, you're so late. What is that? If you watch Tiger King, Chimp Crazy is the greatest. I told you to watch this months ago. I watched it this weekend. Chelsea and I are fascinated with chimps now. We want, since we're empty nestering right now, we would like to get a chimp for home. Oh, y'all too rich.

01:49:07 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 1:

The way? Y'all too rich, bro. You think about buying monkeys? No, none of the rich people have these chimps. No, no, they're all crazy people. No, rich people do not have these chimps. Crazy people have them. Wild monkeys? These are people living in trailers for chimps. Let me tell you. Let me tell you.

01:49:20 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 2:

Cav, you'll love them.

01:49:21 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 1:

Let me tell you. I'm good. These are the craziest animals ever. Go, go, go, go, go. The first episode dropped, and what I tell you, I literally gasped and clutched my pearls at the end of the first episode. There is a crazy twist, and you're like, no. It's the greatest ever. It's so good. What's it called again? Chimp Crazy. It's on HBO. It's on HBO. All right, I'll check it out today. Yeah. Yep. Check out all today's Dirty by Catching Up on the Mojo in the Morning podcast on the free

01:49:46 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

iHeartRadio app. Somebody jerked directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s. It's Mojo in the Morning show. So one of our really, really close.

01:50:00 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 1:

friends that works for us at iHeart. He's actually one of the big executives here. One of the people that we love so much. We have a great staff, great team, best company I think I've ever worked with in all the years I've worked for radio companies. He's battling right now and going through some treatment. He's doing some chemo treatments and some radiation treatments. And last week, the uh people that be put out an email to all of the on-air personalities and some of the big programming people and said that they wanted to do what's called a meal train have you guys ever heard of these things yeah no what is it it's when somebody that you know is going through some kind of a tough time or has something going on in their life whether they're you know being faced with like a surgery or something or maybe they had something that happened in their family like a divorce or whatever everybody comes together and picks a day of the week to send over a dinner to them it's what neighborhoods do you know and friendships do like hey i'm gonna cook you a casserole on tuesday you know bob's gonna barbecue you some you know ribs on wednesday you know stuff like that but it there's a this site called meal train and i got it sent to me uh by laney and she sent me this thing and she said hey would you want to be part of this meal train to help out our friend and i won't say their name even though i think he would probably be happy to air his name on the air just because he's he's such a good guy uh and he loves morning radio well i'm like absolutely i'm gonna do this because i love this person i'm gonna pick a day well then i go on there to go look at the days to pick and i see names like elvis duran from the elvis duran show I see, you know, The Breakfast Club, you know, with Charlamagne Tha God and Envy. And I'm looking at all these names. I see like, you know, programming guys like John Peake, who runs our Los Angeles properties. I see Tommy Chuck down in Tampa. I see The Joe Show. I see all these people on this thing. Heavy hitters. And I'm looking at what they're doing. And on this app, you can send like a DoorDash gift card, which is convenient and easy. or you can provide a I'll take this day and I'll get a dinner and I'll have it sent over to their house which is nice well our friend lives in California and I don't know about you but I'm a very competitive person and I know you guys are too right I like where this is going I don't want to be out shined out sparkled by Elvis Duran okay Elvis I know is the big guy in the company you You know, for all, you know, say he should be. He's excellent. He's on a million stations. He also is on our biggest station, Z100 in New York. I know Elvis is going to do something big for him. I know he's going to probably like do a carry out order to some great restaurant.

01:53:00 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 1:

I got to go bigger than that.

01:53:02 - 01:53:03 | Unknown:

I got it. Go ahead.

01:53:04 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 2:

I have the perfect answer for this. You want something over the top.

01:53:07 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 1:

I need over the top on this meal train.

01:53:09 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 2:

More important than what everybody else is doing.

01:53:11 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 1:

No tuna casserole on this one.

01:53:12 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 2:

So you can go to everybody that you respect in the industry and say, I'm better than you.

01:53:17 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:53:17 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So you love the show.

01:53:19 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 1:

This is not about feeding my friend. At all. This is about winning this thing. Go ahead.

01:53:23 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 2:

No, I love a good competition. I don't care about grieving or people in need or who cares about helping people. It's about me and my reputation. So you love the show, The Bear.

01:53:34 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:53:34 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 2:

It's really funny because the one guy on that show who's an actual chef comes off as the idiot who can't cook on that show, and it's Matty Matheson, all right? And he has partnered with Detroit's Standby on a menu here, and so that means he knows people in Detroit. Is there a way where his connections can reach out to him and see if we can work with him to do a meal for our friend?

01:54:02 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 1:

That would be amazing, and then maybe have him Zoom him. And you know what?

01:54:08 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 2:

I'll offer this. I'll do like a social promotion for his menu at his restaurant.

01:54:12 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes. I don't want him zooming. He has to go to this man's house and cook it live in his kitchen.

01:54:19 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 2:

We need like they say farm to table.

01:54:21 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 1:

I want table to tongue.

01:54:22 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 2:

I can't remember. Did you say where this guy lives?

01:54:26 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 1:

He's in California. He's in Pacific Palisades or something. I don't know. Somewhere nice. I'm guessing that he's in California. He has to be. Right? If not, Mojo will pay for the flight. We're going all in. See, I was thinking. We're going all in. I like that you just did that. Can I tell you something? Megan, you went above and beyond. Thank you very much, Megan, for that. I was actually thinking, is there any way I can get, like, Gordon Ramsay or Wolfgang Puck or Guy Fieri?

01:54:49 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 2:

I have the guy with an actual connection to somebody who might be listening. But we got somebody. I like Megan's thought.

01:54:54 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 1:

But Megan's is good.

01:54:55 - 01:54:56 | Speaker 2:

What's our budget?

01:54:57 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 1:

I don't necessarily know that we have a budget.

01:55:00 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 2:

budget so we think so not much you think in cameo we're just gonna get him a cameo i don't know maybe a cameo that's not a bad idea how much is a cameo for him look it up for those that don't know what a cameo is i've bought these for everybody on the show before it's basically where a celebrity gives you a shout out on a video what's up uh britney are you there i'm here hi britney what are your

01:55:20 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 4:

thoughts guys good morning my thoughts is that hello my thoughts are that you just signed like a food truck to their house like you gotta go big a whole ass food like like but what if we did like

01:55:31 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 2:

a whole food truck okay that's a famous food truck a lot that's a great one oh what about

01:55:37 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 5:

los lobos or what's my man's from los lobos is that l'abama oh uh no no uh pocos hermanos yes

01:55:45 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 2:

yes for breaking bad pollo locos or yeah yeah jesus um i love that idea i think that that's right here's the thing though when you're when you're going through radiation can you eat a lot

01:55:58 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 4:

i don't know how much food you want to have you know it's not about what you can eat mojo you

01:56:03 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 2:

want to outshine these people that is true i want to feed how about i not only feed him i feed his neighborhood the whole neighborhood do this thing exactly they'll be talking about you for years you

01:56:14 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 4:

can send the ice room truck through after oh my gosh elvis duran's gonna win this thing so much

01:56:20 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 2:

He wins everything. You know, he's in the Hall of Fame already. I'm not. He's, you know, won an M.A.B.

01:56:28 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 4:

It's a good two there.

01:56:29 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 2:

Or an N.A.B. It's a good two there. Yeah, you think? Okay. Yeah. Well, I'm one that likes to go big. I like to go big. By the way, I also, whenever I go to weddings, I always make sure that I put extra stuff inside of the card so that it looks like I'm putting lots of money inside of the thing. When in reality, it's just tissues and tissue paper. I love that

01:56:51 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 5:

How serious are you about this?

01:56:54 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 2:

I need to do a big

01:56:55 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 5:

I found the guy who definitely knows who Matty Masterson is

01:56:58 - 01:56:59 | Speaker 2:

Tell him I need him

01:56:59 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 5:

Do you want me to say his name so if anybody knows him we can get a hold of him? Anthony Curris He is the Library Street Collective founder and standby partner

01:57:12 - 01:57:16 | Speaker 2:

If anybody knows him I'll help him out with his charities forever

01:57:16 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 5:

Help us

01:57:17 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 2:

I'll help them. Yeah. I remember when Chelsea and I were bringing food over to a friend that just had a baby, and we brought food over. And I remember we had a whole bunch of stuff, and we show up at their house, and somebody doubled up on the same day, and they were in the house cooking it. And I said to Chelsea, I go, we just got out. Shine. You know? Our shine was not so good. And I don't want to have that happen to me with the radio people. What's up, Saw?

01:57:46 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo? I just appreciate you doing what you do for your friends. Like I said, that's a real Detroit style. We want to do it bigger than everybody. That's what we do in Detroit. I just appreciate you.

01:57:58 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:57:58 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 1:

And everybody knows that we're going to do it big. That's what we do. We want to do it bigger than whoever's doing it. That's how we always do it.

01:58:04 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 2:

We can't lose in Detroit, right? We got to win in Detroit. That's right.

01:58:07 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying, Bojo. You crazy. When I heard you say it, I said, yeah. You're going to play. I said, yeah, that's Detroit.

01:58:12 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you, if I have to, seriously, I'll rob a radio station.

01:58:16 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 1:

01:58:29 - 01:58:36 | Speaker 2:

that guy's got to be a big man his name is saw what's up amber hi i was calling just to say

01:58:36 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 3:

with the food train for more simple meals obviously not this is um just remembering that people could be sick and just not really feeling like they have company yeah so making sure like door drops and that kind of thing yeah well that's it i i'm probably

01:58:50 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 2:

gonna end up doing a door dash gift card or something but i don't know i i know you gotta worry i i worry that he's recovering and i don't want to make it too crazy but god wouldn't it be

01:59:00 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 3:

amazing if a celebrity showed up at his house absolutely i think there has to be some days that are full of joy and yeah it big for those people and it's just like you know if they're lasagnas or whatnot uh just remembering their door drops or texting ahead to be like hey do

01:59:15 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 2:

you want company yeah what if we make a celebrity like like trailer swift what if we send a celebrity we send somebody that looks like a look-alike yeah let's do a look-alike gordon ramsey uh and have him insult him and like make it a whole thing he would love that this should

01:59:33 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 3:

be played at high volume mojo in the morning good to have you guys here you're home of the

01:59:39 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

War of the Roses, second date update, and the Dirty on the 30, Megan is about to make a statement that is going to make all of us guys look bad, and I would like to just put a disclaimer out there. She's probably right. I was going to say, it's not my fault. Okay. So, Megan's back from another wedding that she was at, and has a rash generalization about...

02:00:00 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, men, and I'm guessing it's a not positive one.

02:00:03 - 02:00:09 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't think it's not positive. I think it's just how you view it. I'm not saying this like it's a negative. I don't think it's a negative. Go ahead.

02:00:10 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 1:

You got two men here and countless men that are listening.

02:00:13 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 3:

I hate that you said it up that way because now everybody's going to think that I said this as a negative. I'm just curious.

02:00:17 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 1:

It's not negative.

02:00:18 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 3:

As to what it is about weddings that makes men so horny.

02:00:23 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

02:00:23 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 3:

I don't understand why all men are trying to find hookups at weddings in a way that is almost like hunting for prey in the world. Makes me horny. It is so aggressive and sometimes kind of sad to look at the single guys at weddings just hopping from girl to girl to girl and just not enjoying themselves at all, but trying to secure the after party plans the entire wedding.

02:00:53 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 1:

Are you saying it's just men doing this? I get the feeling that women do it, too.

02:00:59 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 3:

I think women aren't opposed to wedding hookups. But I have never seen women go from single guy to single guy to single guy to single guy and not hang out with their friends or sit on the dance floor, dancing with the bride and groom, or going to go get drinks, whatever it is, go to eat, whereas guys feel like their only mission is to find the hookup.

02:01:23 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 1:

You know why? Because it happens. Bruh! When there is a free bar of booze and people all dressed up in sexy outfits, I think that it makes you, I don't know, feel it.

02:01:38 - 02:01:39 | Speaker 2:

See, I'm not saying I'm wrong.

02:01:40 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think you're wrong. Actually, I don't think that that was a negative on guys. Because obviously, you admitted to us earlier this morning that you did have a little fun, too. Yeah. Okay. We're very excited.

02:01:52 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 3:

That's why I don't think it's a negative. I really don't think it's a negative. I just don't understand why it's so all-consuming to the guys.

02:02:00 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 2:

This is a bipartisan issue. Finally, we can all agree. This is something you can cross the line on both sides. You are not wrong. I have been to a few weddings in my day. Not a lot, but a few weddings. And for some reason, there is this energy that comes with that plate. And it is a sexual energy. And I'm three for three, especially when it comes for out-of-this-country weddings. There's something about that, too. And the bridesmaids be the ones. Destination weddings make you... Bro, what? Destination weddings? You get a little fun in the sun? You get a little hot?

02:02:34 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I would love... By the way, could you call us up and tell us if you've ever hooked up at a wedding? Tell us the situation. I'd love to hear that. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I think there's something that goes into your system where you see some love in the air with the couple. And then you start saying, I'd like love, too. You know, it's like, Megan, it's like when a pizza is delivered to a group of people that you were not part of, you just want a slice. You want to enjoy a slice.

02:03:09 - 02:03:13 | Speaker 3:

Just a taste. Just want a little taste.

02:03:13 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 1:

Just give me a corner slice. Just give me like a small piece.

02:03:18 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 3:

A snack. A snack. Just a snack.

02:03:20 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 1:

Like a little snack.

02:03:21 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 3:

Should I be looking like a snack?

02:03:22 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the pictures of Megan at this thing? First off, let me just say this to you. Shout out to Megan. Yes. Shout out to Ellen McNally. Big shout out.

02:03:31 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 3:

Ellen is so hot.

02:03:32 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 1:

Our former producer, executive producer of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Talk about it. I'm not going to lie to you, but you two girls. Huh? Did you guys have dates at this wedding?

02:03:42 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:03:42 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 1:

So you hooked up. Did Ellen find, did Ellen meet a boy?

02:03:47 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 3:

No, she did not.

02:03:48 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 1:

She did not? Is she dating right now?

02:03:51 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 3:

No, and she's the best friend of the entire world. Because I was like, so what's the plan? What are we going home? What should I do with you over? And she was like, oh, you're making your own plans tonight. I said, oh, you're making your own plans tonight.

02:03:59 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 2:

That's that wedding energy.

02:04:01 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 3:

Wow. She's the best. She actually was really the driving force in making poor decisions this weekend. I blame her.

02:04:10 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she egged you on to do it? Oh, absolutely. she was always like that too she was always the encourager of everybody's shenanigans everybody

02:04:19 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 3:

thinks i'm a bad person turns out it's really her and she lives in chicago too right she does

02:04:24 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 2:

see so she wanted you to come in town she felt the need to show you around

02:04:28 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 3:

no no it's not even leaving happy i think she wants me to get pregnant so i can't leave she was like megan's drunk hopefully this will be unprotected sex and there will be a baby and Megan has to stay.

02:04:44 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Jared, are you there? Yeah. Megan thinks that it's just the guys that are horny at weddings. Do we hook up at a wedding?

02:04:52 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

I might disagree with that, but I mean, kind of. But so I had gone to my buddy's wedding, and I went to go hook up with.

02:05:00 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 6:

one of the bridesmaids well we were dancing out on the floor and i i learned how to do a back handspring when i was younger so i was gonna do one behind the table so i didn't kick nobody oh he got it and my one buddy was like no my buddy was like no dude on dance floor dude on dance floor and so i went to go do it on the dance floor and the bride's sister walked through as i was doing it and i ended up kicking her uh and so like as an apology i guess i don't know we hooked up that

02:05:26 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 1:

night i love it you can't say that i gotta dump that uh jared you can you now you're no longer a nice guy um we're done with you yeah uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 in text 95500 this one's 419 says megan went to an out-of-town chicago wedding there must be something about those I hooked up in Chicago, too. That might be the thing, too. It might be the, Kevin might be right on the whole out-of-town weddings, although you say it out of the country. You're saying, like, destination weddings in, like, Caribbean islands

02:06:04 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 2:

and stuff? Yeah, that type of vibe. Cancun, Dominican Republic, that type of energy. All-inclusive, drinks are flowing, people are bad. It's these bridesmaids, man, I'm telling you. They see their girl getting married, they get the love bug, they look good, you look good, it happens. Do you think

02:06:20 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 1:

it's the bridesmaids that people are hooking up with?

02:06:22 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 3:

do you think that's the case really it's just any single girl three one three y'all be on the hunt

02:06:28 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 1:

three one three says prowlers megan's right guys are like horny uh horn dogs at weddings they are looking to get laid by anybody they can it all starts when they start line dancing i'm not even

02:06:40 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 3:

saying it's a bad thing oh jesus i'm not truly again not saying it's even a bad thing it's just funny to me that like if you looked at at the room right there was a point in the evening where i was standing off to the side i was trying to find some bits to film for a social post stuff like that just kind of watching my friends have fun i love watching the people i love have fun and i saw all of the single dudes like women women women ladies where are the ladies and they were just like standing in the corner like must talk girl fun lady sleep with yes

02:07:16 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 1:

I always feel like weddings are like our parties that we throw. When we throw them in hotels, it always leads to hotel sex or something. What's up, Cameron? Who are you talking to, Cameron? Are you talking to yourself or are you talking to – you there, Cameron?

02:07:33 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm here.

02:07:34 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 1:

Hi, buddy. We're talking right now. Megan thinks that it's just the guys that want to hook up at weddings.

02:07:38 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 5:

well in my experience it just depends who's single and who's not and the type of energy

02:07:45 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 1:

they bring yeah have you ever had it where a girl came on to you to want to uh to have sex

02:07:53 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 5:

or did you always have to go out and search um so at my friend's wedding he spent like 50 grand and had an open bar, and his sister had tried to get with me, but I got too drunk. I blacked out before we even got back to the house.

02:08:13 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that would have been a bad thing, don't you think, to hook up with the groom's sister?

02:08:19 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 5:

Well, he's been my best friend. That'll make it okay?

02:08:24 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 1:

That's like your sister. If he's your best friend, that means that's like your sister. But you're right, though, at a wedding. At a wedding, all bets are off, right?

02:08:34 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 5:

Nah, I don't know about that. Yeah, I mean, the tequila definitely blurs the lines a little bit.

02:08:40 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, we all know that tequila makes your clothes come off. We've heard that song before. What's up, baby leg? Jay is on with us right now.

02:08:47 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 4:

How y'all doing? Good morning, good morning.

02:08:49 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Has that baby leg ever come out at a wedding?

02:08:51 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Oh, yes, it did. But see, I was poor. See, the bride of honor pulled me. You know, I was looking good. I had to pat myself on the back. I mean, the tux all white, like, hey, all right. So apparently she was like that, too. From the time she first, you know, she seen me. So it was what it was. You know what's funny?

02:09:13 - 02:09:33 | Speaker 1:

I wonder the tux shops. I'll have to call my buddy Mike, who used to own President Tuxedos. How many tuxes come back with missing items because guys go to a girl's room or, you know, whatever and end up hooking up after a wedding oh well yeah see they didn't get that tux bad

02:09:33 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

some stains can't be removed exactly cannot be

02:09:40 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 1:

ali what's up it's mojo in the morning how are you uh i'm great how are you fantastic what's going

02:09:48 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 5:

on? Um, I was the groom's sister, and I did hook up with a groom's man. Oh, Allie! What happened? Um, he

02:10:00 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 8:

He looked great. He smelled great. It was a Dominican Republic wedding, and it actually turned into a couple-year situationship.

02:10:08 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? So the next morning when everybody's getting together for breakfast, you showed up with your mom and dad and family with this guy?

02:10:17 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 8:

Oh, God, no. We separated and then re-entered for breakfast.

02:10:22 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so when did you finally admit to family that you ended up hooking up with one of the guys?

02:10:27 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 8:

About a year after we were done. Not after you were done. You said it was years-long situationship. Yeah, so like about a year after the situationship had wrapped respectfully. You kept it quiet for that long. I couldn't. Yeah.

02:10:42 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 4:

That's wild. You knew your brother would beat his ass.

02:10:45 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 8:

It was his best friend.

02:10:46 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That life would have been over for him. William, you don't just hook up at weddings. Where else do you hook up at?

02:10:55 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 5:

Funerals, birthday parties, wherever there's a gathering. Funerals?

02:11:00 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 7:

He's like, wedding crazy.

02:11:01 - 02:11:11 | Speaker 5:

Funeral. Yeah, you know, my cousin, may he rest in peace, passed away. And, you know, he had a few female friends, you know.

02:11:13 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 8:

William, aren't you worried it's mostly family when you're there? There's too much risk involved.

02:11:19 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no. It was my cousin's funeral. And he had a few little friends, you know, extra female friends. They were all sobbing and everything, and I had to console them.

02:11:32 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 4:

You are a bad man. You're going to hell, my friend. That's horrible. That's called taking advantage of a person in their weak moments.

02:11:42 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 6:

Well, see, it was me. I have five brothers, and we all were there. We were there to console the women.

02:11:49 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's awful. I mean, even I wouldn't do something like that. That's horrible. Brittany, what's up, Brittany?

02:11:56 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 7:

hey um so i actually used to work at president tuxedo i'm actually um long-time listener first time hey there yeah britney on the phone three piece beat so it like it was insane what they used to bring in um glasses expensive glasses watches and we it would like be dreadful when we used to open the bag um you'd never know what it would smell like it was it was horrible oh my

02:12:26 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 4:

So they would return the tuxedos with remnants of the entire night and sometimes forget that they left their watches and other things inside the bag.

02:12:37 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 7:

It was insane. And it was just like, what is it going to smell like today? Is it going to smell like a pile of cologne or just a pile of mousse?

02:12:47 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 4:

It smells like a hoe.

02:12:48 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Okay. My grandma always says, you smell like a fresh whore. Wait, she didn't say that to you, did she? Cheese eyes I don't know, she would say that to my grandpa But like

02:13:02 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 4:

I think my grandma used to tell my grandpa Hey, go out and take the garbage out I don't know, he never said that That's crazy

02:13:12 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

02:13:17 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 4:

Megan has been doing a spectacular job this morning Yes, Megan The dirties for Shannon.

02:13:25 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 3:

Excellent dirt.

02:13:26 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 4:

For the people that have been listening in Detroit,

02:13:32 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 2:

Cav has been doing an adequate job with Travis. This is the worst traffic job I've ever done in my life. I just want to say, I apologize to everyone out there. Blame me.

02:13:43 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 4:

You give bad traffic jobs. I just want you to know that. What's going on, Megan? How's this dirty going?

02:13:48 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 1:

Judy is about to be hit with a second batch of sexual assault lawsuits, including allegations involving assault of a 13-year-old girl. A Texas lawyer announced the seven new claims last night. This is different from the one a week ago. Mm-hmm. Oh, my God. And more than 100 other potential victims that have come forward. Two of the new alleged victims were teenagers at the time that they were abused. Four of them are males. These lawsuits are expected to be filed in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan overnight. Their content should be made public soon after, so when those details drop, I'll keep you updated. Now, 50 Cent is also now calling out Diddy publicly for doing an interview with people saying, yo, it's just my perspective because I've stayed away from the stuff the entire time because this is not my style, which is interesting. Has he stayed away from it? No, not really. He's been the happiest man in hip hop. And they've obviously been feuding the two of them, both 50 Cent and Diddy, for a long time because he announced he's releasing his docuseries on Netflix. that's going to explore the allegations of sexual assault and violence made against Diddy.

02:14:48 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Can't wait. Real quick, I hope Diddy sings like a canary because if there are hundreds of allegations that are coming out and, you know, I'm not saying, you know, what's valid and what isn't, but obviously there were people...

02:15:00 - 02:15:09 | Speaker 4:

who were there who knew what was going on and decided not to say anything. So I pray, if and when he has his day in court, that he lets us know who else was an accomplice. They deserve to get their ass beat, too.

02:15:10 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 5:

What if it's your love of loves? What if it's Jay-Z and Beyonce?

02:15:14 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 4:

It is what it is. If you did wrong, if you're an evil person, you deserve your day in court.

02:15:18 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 3:

Taylor Swift is kicking off the final leg of her heiress tour after a two-month hiatus. Some of the celebs really showed out in Miami. Tom Brady was there along with Serena Williams, Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Jenna Bush Hager, Alex Earl, Miley Cyrus was there. Fans really lost their mind when they saw Jason Kelsey, Kylie, their daughter Wyatt. Did you see Jason Kelsey? I'm getting to it.

02:15:40 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 5:

Shut up. Okay, this is great.

02:15:41 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Jesus, I don't know why you never do that for Shannon and you spoil all of my dirty stories. Mama Donna was also in the parking lot entering the stadium. Okay, this is what Mojo wanted to tell you. We did see Jason didn't make it the entire show because the pickup button went viral where he fell asleep during the show. So, no, Travis was not there. He was at practice, which paid off with a win against the 49ers this weekend, plus Swifties. Come on. We got a new bodysuit during the reputation portion of the show. Gold Snakes at this point. Just give us the announcement.

02:16:12 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 5:

Did you see the Dave Portnoy stuff, too? So, Dave Portnoy has been attacked by Swifties, saying that he's, like, mean to Swifties. Really? Dave Portnoy went to the concert, and Taylor's whole family greeted him, brought him to meet her, she wrote him a card, all this stuff. So all the Swifties now are all upset, saying that Taylor is being nice to the enemy. I guess Taylor is a fan of Barstool. I doubt that. Very interesting. Really? Yes. Did you read the card? Go on, Dave's El Presidente.

02:16:42 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 3:

She can't write a mean card.

02:16:45 - 02:16:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but she, Austin, the brother and the mom all came out and greeted them and stuff. Why would they do that if she doesn't

02:16:51 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 3:

like them? Because she's a marketing machine. so let's address some internet rumors circulating around Liam Payne's death yes it is true that he did stay in another hotel while he was in Argentina but no he did not get kicked out of that hotel he was partying pretty hard while he was there but he and his girlfriend were staying at a different hotel than the one he died in the week prior to his death staff from the first hotel have come out to say he did get pretty drunk on some of the nights but he was never like belligerent saying he was just trying to be entertaining He was sometimes singing in the lobby. Now, at the second hotel where he did pass away, that staff is saying he was acting very poor, having fits of rage in the lobby and in front of other guests. And that's when they contacted the police. And he may have shown signs of using substances that may or may not have been found in his room. We're waiting for those test results to come back. His behavior at the time of his death is consistent with the effects of a drug called Cristal. And they're waiting on that toxicology report. They do have an autopsy, but not a toxicology report. Antonio.

02:17:57 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 5:

Can I ask a question without making it interrupt you? I don't want to interrupt you. No.

02:18:02 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 3:

Why would we stop at any story in this day?

02:18:04 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 5:

My question is, I've stayed in hotels, numerous hotels.

02:18:08 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:18:08 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 5:

All right. I'm not Liam Payne. Are hotel people buying drugs or giving drugs to the people that stay there? They are in Mexico. Do celebrities regularly get... Well, no, this is Argentina that he was, right? You just asked a general question.

02:18:22 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 4:

Are people who work at hotels doing this? I'm telling you, yeah. They did that in Mexico? One of my friends got some cocaine in one of these hotels, and he didn't bring it on the plane with him.

02:18:30 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 5:

Really?

02:18:30 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 4:

And no, I did not do it. And yes, we was all looking at him crazy, because what the hell are you doing with cocaine in this room?

02:18:36 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 5:

Wow. This is interesting. Okay. I'm sorry, Megan. Go ahead.

02:18:40 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 3:

Antonio Brown is saying that Tim Walz is not a real football coach, and he couldn't take a beyond in a one-on-one. The former NFL star spoke at a Trump event in Pennsylvania. He had some things to say about Walsh's coaching days while calling him some names.

02:18:56 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, Tempon Tim Walsh, he isn't a real football coach. He could never guard me. Guys, how is business? Business will be booming going against Tim Walsh. Tempon Tim Walsh will be really booming going against him.

02:19:18 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 3:

He's calling him Tampon Tim because if you didn't know, Tim Walsh signed a bill for students to have access to period products in public schools.

02:19:24 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 4:

How crazy. That's not even the craziest thing he said at that rally. He ended it with a really wild statement.

02:19:31 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 5:

Did you see all the celebrities that were in for the different candidates? Do you mind if I play some of these before you leave? Yeah, I do. Lizzo was in for Kamala Harris.

02:19:42 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm so proud to be from this city. You know, they say if Kamala wins, then the whole country will be like Detroit. Proud like Detroit. Resilient like Detroit.

02:19:57 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that was that. She was there. Trick.

02:20:00 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 6:

Trick went up on stage with Donald Trump. He wanted

02:20:04 - 02:20:32 | Speaker 4:

him to rap. Another man that they love in Detroit is a rapper. A rapper. And he's one of the hottest in the world, actually. Trick, trick. Where's Trick, trick? Oh my God. Trick, trick. You're a hater. Come on. You don't know this, man. Come here. It's Trick, trick. Maybe we should have him do a little rapping or something, huh? Come here. Look at him. He looks good. He looks good. You look good.

02:20:35 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 6:

Come on. You didn't go crazy when Lizzo is up there.

02:20:43 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 7:

If y'all know about Chick Chick, y'all know I'm about bringing it all to Detroit. So please welcome the 47th president of the United States as we make Detroit great again.

02:20:56 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 6:

There you go. There you go. Hold on. a second. Kevin, you sound tired.

02:21:02 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, you sound tired. I thought you were the hype man. This is the Mojo in the morning show.

02:21:10 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 5:

I should have got a coffee from McDonald's from you, Mr. President. I'd be feeling good. I need to decide my NBA, though. Are you ready for

02:21:19 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 6:

15 days from now?

02:21:21 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 5:

I think I might early vote, to be honest with you.

02:21:23 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Like you said, I already know who I'm voting

02:21:25 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 5:

for, so unless something crazy happens, my mind

02:21:27 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 6:

ain't going to be changed. But we're still going to be dealing with commercials for the next 15

02:21:32 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 5:

days, it seems like. And even though we say it's going to be over November 5th, we know it's not.

02:21:36 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 6:

It's not. Alright, back to you, Megan. I'm sorry. You can check out

02:21:39 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

all of today's dirties by going to the Mojo in the Morning podcast on the free iHeartRadio app. Alright.

02:21:59 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning show. I am praying that she's willing to let me share this today. But if you go check out the We Don't podcast today, Chelsea and I did a podcast that will be released later today when Zach gets around to finishing up our show podcast and then he'll pop that up. Chelsea did something very interesting. she tried on her wedding dress from 30 years ago this weekend and i took pictures of it i hope she lets me uh share it with you guys it was unfreaking believable 30 years this thing has been sitting literally in a bag or on a hanger for 30 years and she tried the the dress on and i wanted to uh to talk about this on the podcast which we did because we talked about our anniversary and we talked about 30 years and we talked about some of the one of the things that i think that helped us in our 30 years of marriage um but also what helped us keep us together for 30 years because we've had some

02:23:09 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 5:

rough patches yeah but look at this wow she still fitted too she fit into that yeah is that unbelievable did she cry at all or did you cry like what was the emotion i got all emotional

02:23:20 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 6:

first off i got i got like megan was talking about with weddings yeah i got horny when i saw

02:23:25 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 5:

yeah well i wanted because you didn't consummate on the actual day right so well that is true so

02:23:32 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 6:

that is true we talked we did talk about that that on the actual day of our uh our wedding chelsea went to bed and uh i stayed up watching television and eating room service in a hotel but we did not have a chance to fully do what we needed to do, and that was show our love and affection for each other.

02:23:56 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 2:

I can't come to the phone.

02:23:57 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 6:

Ah, she's not answering her phone. I don't know where she's at right now. Does she not understand that she should be waiting patiently by the phone for me? The video I did, too, was pretty funny, too, because I did try to see if she would want to have sex, and her comment that she said to me was hysterical. I don't know if she'll let me post it. Obviously, she doesn't like a lot of different posts and stuff. But I look at it. First off, it was so crazy because I have not seen that dress in 30 years. I mean, I know that we've had.

02:24:31 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 2:

She's never pulled it out.

02:24:32 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 6:

She never pulled it out. It was in our basement, and I never would go down and see it.

02:24:39 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 2:

Usually, it's in storage. That kind of makes sense. I'm just surprised it's taken this long to pull it out. I feel like everybody has, like, a drunk night 10 years in where you put it in.

02:24:46 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 6:

It's wild because, you know, we don't have very many pictures from our wedding. Like, we have, I think, four or five pictures from our wedding because our wedding photographer got drunk. Oh, no. And then he went, like.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 2:

AWOL and off the grid and we didn't get a chance to get any other pictures. I told her,

02:25:05 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 1:

so let's do a redo. I was about to say, are y'all going to renew the vials? She got to pull up in the same dress?

02:25:10 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 2:

Did you see the pictures I posted last week of us? You look different, bro. Everybody's saying you look the same. I don't think so. How sexy do we look compared to what we looked like

02:25:19 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 3:

back then? He has the same smile, so I think it can be kind of deceiving.

02:25:24 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 2:

I mean, literally, the pictures from, like, if you didn't see them, it was our anniversary on the 15th so last week I have this big old fat face look at that that's us we're like young kids that's our wedding day right there that's the dress that's all we got in the dress so are y'all talking about renewing the vows

02:25:47 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 1:

are we having these conversations

02:25:48 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

she won't do it

02:25:50 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 1:

will you upgrade the ring

02:25:51 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 2:

can he upgrade anymore Megan that ring has been upgraded about 5 or 6 times

02:25:57 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 3:

you can always upgrade again baby Chelsea, I got you, fam.

02:26:00 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea has no problem upgrading the ring for the sake of, you know, bad vibes or bad karma.

02:26:10 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 3:

I think she wants another band and matching earrings.

02:26:14 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 2:

No, listen. If she did, she would have already called Joe Lucido and she would have gotten it because that's how she does it. I don't even get asked anymore. It's now gotten to a point where it's like, hey, I got to go pick something up from Joe Lucido. So, by the way, can you pick it up for me? And I'm like, oh, God, what did I just have to pick up? Her gift.

02:26:33 - 02:26:38 | Speaker 1:

When it comes to renewing the vows, it's vows, right? Vows.

02:26:38 - 02:26:43 | Speaker 2:

V-O-W-S. Vowels. Would you like to buy a vowel?

02:26:44 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 1:

So when you renew those things, and I guess it just happens, it depends on the relationship that you have. Yeah. Is it a conversation with your partner? Like, hey, let's do this. Or would you get out on one knee and propose to her again?

02:26:57 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 2:

and renew it like that way i don't you know what it's it's wild we were having a conversation with joe because you know i i thought that you know joe and we talked about it on our show our son went out and i think he bought a ring and did all this stuff and we're asking him like what he's waiting for like what's his thing and he has an idea of what he's going to do but he was like why can't i just do an engagement proposal like your dad did for mom which basically was we were drunk after doing the Friday night dance party at the Pacific Beach Club came home and on the floor of my apartment because I had no furniture I rolled over and gave her the ring and said will you marry me because I was tired of the fact that she was wearing it secretly and not telling me that she was wearing it so I'm like you know what put it on your finger and that's what my proposal was and Joe goes I don't know Joe doesn't want to do the whole big proposal stuff and I thought to myself I'm like you know what if I was going to get renewed in vows I would like to do a big proposal i want it to be a social media mega cast you want the airplane coming with all the i want i want it to get us more hits and views and likes and loves and i want kp to hit her social uh

02:28:11 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 3:

bonuses for that week yeah you know this past weekend my girlfriend erica got married and she had a rule for her engagement and it was it doesn't have to be big she didn't want it big get in public but it had to be special to us and I want my friends to know what day it's going to happen because we're all going out that night so I want all of my friends to have the night off and know that they're expected to join us to hit the bars but like if you propose to me in front of anybody I think her exact words were I'll kill you sounds like her sounds like her I think Chelsea would be

02:28:43 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

the same way too I think that if I did it in a public setting because back then social media was not a thing 30 years ago we didn't have Instagram and Facebook and stuff.

02:28:52 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 3:

But you're only 30 years old.

02:28:54 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, exactly. I think she would have honestly been upset if I did it like that. Or if I did, like nowadays people do this thing where they invite their families to come and be out with them. I think Chelsea would be like, why are you inviting my grandfather and parents to this thing?

02:29:10 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 3:

And I don't want that, but also I don't want you to roll over and just be like, I guess you already know about this. Like there's a middle ground.

02:29:16 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 2:

It has to be a middle ground.

02:29:17 - 02:29:19 | Speaker 1:

Do you feel bad about that, that that's the way you did it?

02:29:20 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do. because I planned stuff. Back then, I was hosting a morning show. You did contests that were crazy contests. I had planning meetings and stuff. Like, I didn't.

02:29:31 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 3:

You're a-hole.

02:29:33 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would have done something special. I actually wanted to do it on the air. And back then in radio, do you guys remember the part of radio when you'd listen to the station and they would say, Monday morning at 7.20, we got a big announcement. Yeah. I wanted to do it with Monday morning at 7.20, a big announcement, like promote all weekend long. The biggest thing ever, you know, I wanted to do stuff like that and it didn't happen.

02:29:56 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 1:

I want you to propose again.

02:29:58 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm going to have the chance right now.

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 3:

Chelsea? What?

02:30:02 - 02:30:06 | Speaker 2:

Where are you? Where are you?

02:30:08 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, your phone.

02:30:10 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 2:

Where were you? Where were you?

02:30:13 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm going to a doctor's appointment.

02:30:17 - 02:30:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, here, real quick. I'm on my knee right now. And I just wanted to say, we've spent 30 years together. Not all of them happy. but I would like to make the next 30 years not all of the time happy for you. Will you

02:30:38 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 3:

marry me again? I'm in my Bluetooth.

02:30:45 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 2:

That's not cutting out. That's God saying don't let her hear this. Chalice, can you hear me? I can hear you. Okay. Kev wants me to re-propose to you and then us to renew our vows now that you fit into the wedding dress again.

02:30:59 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. One and done. No, Chelsea, no. Don't rob me of this. You can get another ring. No, I'm good with that, too. Okay, but you could get another ring

02:31:11 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 4:

and give it to me.

02:31:15 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

Or, or, Megan, or he can marry you. Oh, Megan.

02:31:22 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 2:

Please, Megan.

02:31:23 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, it's so weird.

02:31:24 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 4:

My headphones, the Bluetooth, it's breaking up right now. I can't hear you.

02:31:28 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 2:

exactly come on megan i think you and i megan you complete me chelsea why how dare you chelsea i i shared with these guys not on the social media but i shared with these guys the picture of you in the wedding dress and i want to share it with the with all the listeners come on it's horrible no it's not just let me let me share it just because honestly chelsea It would be a great promo for our podcast today.

02:31:57 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 3:

Then put like an emoji over my face. Come on.

02:32:02 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 2:

You look gorgeous.

02:32:04 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 3:

No, I've been so bad.

02:32:05 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, she's not been feeling well.

02:32:06 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 3:

I feel like death warmed over.

02:32:08 - 02:32:11 | Speaker 2:

If death warmed over looks like you, I want to die.

02:32:11 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, same. Stop. Same. Chelsea, how did it feel? If you post my face, you are dead to me.

02:32:19 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 2:

What did you say? Chelsea, how did it feel to put that dress on?

02:32:22 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 3:

it was really scratchy I wore that I should have seen a sign it was so scratchy

02:32:30 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 4:

those sleeves need to come back oh yeah

02:32:35 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 3:

I still to this day I love my wedding dress it's cute

02:32:40 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 2:

it was so beautiful

02:32:41 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 3:

I love it the best part at the back

02:32:44 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 2:

the best part on you is the back too baby I love you, Chelsea. I'm using that as a way to promote the We Don't Podcast today.

02:32:59 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 3:

I do not post my face.

02:33:02 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 2:

Come on. It's not fair. Your face looks amazing.

02:33:07 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 3:

Isn't there a bright emoji?

02:33:08 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 2:

It is.

02:33:09 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. All right.

02:33:10 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to have to see if KP can do some magic on that.

02:33:14 - 02:33:16 | Speaker 3:

Please. Of course she can.

02:33:16 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 2:

All right. I love you.

02:33:18 - 02:33:18 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:33:18 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 3:

Love you, too.

02:33:19 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 2:

All right. I'll see you. Listen to that podcast. It's the More Mojo podcast platform. We don't podcast or search Mojo. We don't. What's going on, Leah?

02:33:27 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 1:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey there.

02:33:32 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you. What's happening?

02:33:34 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 1:

So, um, obviously just listening, talk about proposals and all that. So my fiance proposed to me on New Year's as soon as it hit 12 o'clock, got down on one knee, super cheesy, super cute. um so it was just me my brother and my mom my dad um and my sister-in-law she was so mad she was so mad that that she didn't get that kind of proposal she didn't really get much of a proposal if i'm being honest with you but um she kind of was forced into it or forced my brother into it whatever but she was so mad that when we cheers to it she walked away she sat her glass down and she walked away did she really oh my god what a miracle so for real she was just like nope not having it and then she went and yelled at my brother just a little bit later after that after everything settled down okay that's how you do a proposal the normal reaction is texting your

02:34:22 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 4:

girlfriend separately and subtweeting about it later not storming out during the cheersing

02:34:28 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 2:

Leah's harsh oh god thank you for calling appreciate you Leah absolutely I love you guys

02:34:41 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 1:

Have a great day.

02:34:42 - 02:34:42 | Speaker 2:

All right. We love you, too.

02:34:42 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 1:

We love you, too. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

02:34:47 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

02:35:00 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 4:

or it could be like a long-term relationship. Text DATE to 95500 and we'll get you on the show. Sarah is on with us right now. Sarah, you're getting ghosted. What's happening?

02:35:11 - 02:35:13 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you?

02:35:14 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 4:

We're doing good. So, Sarah, tell us about the person that's ghosting you and then we'll find out some answers for you. How'd you guys meet?

02:35:25 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 3:

We met on one of the apps.

02:35:26 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And have you guys been talking for a while?

02:35:32 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I guess we talked for like a week, week and a half. And then we went out for dinner and we had a really great time. And I thought everything was good. And now I haven't heard from him. And I'm bummed about it.

02:35:55 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay, let's find out what's going on here, okay? Jeremy is on the phone with us right now. Jeremy, will you say hello to Sarah?

02:36:02 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Sarah.

02:36:04 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, hi. Hey, Jeremy. Hey, Jeremy. So Sarah says that you guys met like everybody does, that you guys have been talking like everybody does, you guys went on a date like everybody does, and then you stopped calling her like it seems like everybody does. What's going on? Have you just been busy and just haven't had an opportunity to call her, or what's going on?

02:36:27 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, I've been pretty busy, so I just haven't really been able to call her. But, you know, it was fine.

02:36:36 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 4:

It was fine, meaning the date was fine?

02:36:40 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was all right. We had a good time. But, you know, I've been busy, haven't really been able to have time to call her back.

02:36:53 - 02:36:58 | Speaker 4:

That just doesn't seem like it's the full answer. Sounds to me like you're only giving us partial answer

02:36:58 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah I mean the only thing was She had a wedding ring on Which is kind of weird

02:37:06 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 2:

Well now I'm on your side

02:37:09 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah so I'm a widow And my husband passed away I'm sorry Thank you

02:37:23 - 02:37:35 | Speaker 4:

How long ago did your husband pass away? five years oh man by the way back back on your set so you so your your your husband passed your

02:37:35 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 3:

husband died and you still wear the wedding ring yeah you know um it's just been very hard to take off i finally started dating again that i'm so used to it on my hand and uh you know i'm i'm figuring out how to how to move forward and trying to date and i really like this guy and i didn't know if just the fact that i was a widow totally freaked him

02:38:05 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 2:

out yeah but don't you think by wearing the ring and not addressing it it's just going to lead to problems like this because i think if you bring up i'm a widow i'm still uncomfortable taking this off that's a way more reasonable than somebody showing up and not addressing the ring on their

02:38:21 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 4:

hand well i had told him oh you so you told him about it on the day talked about it okay oh so jeremy so she told you about losing her husband and you still had a had kind of an issue with her

02:38:39 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 1:

wearing the ring yeah i mean i'm sorry her husband died but that was five years ago so No, don't do that.

02:38:49 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 4:

Don't do that. Wow.

02:38:52 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 1:

I mean, she's still holding on to feelings. It's just, I mean, it was five years ago.

02:38:58 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 4:

But this is also her husband. This is somebody that she loved. And I think, have you ever lost anybody in your life? I mean, you lose a loved one, you never forget.

02:39:10 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I'm not wearing a ring about it or going out on dates and still bringing it up.

02:39:17 - 02:39:49 | Speaker 4:

But I got to tell you, Jeremy, and I don't know if you necessarily mean it the way that you mean it because it comes off a little harsh. But when you lose somebody, even in breakups, you see people lose people in breakups, and it's tough. But to lose somebody in death like this, I cannot even imagine how hard that must be for Sarah. And if she's just wearing the symbol of that, which is the ring, she's at least getting back on her two feet and going out on dates with you.

02:39:53 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, I get what you're saying, but I mean, it just doesn't seem like she's.

02:40:00 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 3:

moved on so i don't even know if she's ready to date do you feel like you're ready to date sarah

02:40:05 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 8:

i mean obviously you're out on a date yeah uh how many dates have you been on worn a ring on that hand uh i've been on like three or four i guess have anybody that you've gone on a date

02:40:21 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 10:

with had any other concerns like this or is this the jeremy's the only one uh he's he's the big

02:40:29 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 8:

one so far um the others i think we just kind of didn't feel sparky when we were together but i thought he and i had a really nice conversation in time and then i just didn't hear from it all which you know maybe dating has changed i haven't done it in a long time well i wouldn't know he's

02:40:48 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 2:

a douche just so i'm clear sarah you knew the ring you knew you had the ring on and you decided

02:40:53 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 8:

to keep it on right you didn't yeah i didn't i wasn't like hiding anything um we talked about you know that my husband had passed away on the date and uh and i had the ring on honestly i've always worn a ring on my left hand that's just what's comfortable and so i guess it's a little

02:41:15 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 2:

bit of a security blanket but did you ever consider did you ever consider not to wear it on the date like obviously you know i can i can only imagine what you're experiencing and i'm not telling you not to feel that but if you're going on a date did you ever consider that maybe the ring could potentially not allow anybody to make a real connection because they could think that you're still you know some way involved with your but aren't you always going to be

02:41:38 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 4:

that way involved with somebody i just because you're wearing the ring doesn't mean you're not ready to date and experience new love and affection and partnership you can still say I loved this person, I miss this person, and I want companionship in my life. I don't feel like it's one or the other. It's not like you wear the ring and you're still attached to that person, and then you take the ring off and you're not attached to that person, and you're moving on. I just don't see what the big deal is.

02:42:04 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 2:

I just think symbolism matters.

02:42:05 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like if you're wearing a ring, it means you're married. Yeah, symbolism matters, I think. I don't know. I don't know. If you're wearing a wedding ring with a big rock on it, I don't know.

02:42:14 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 4:

I know girls who wear their grandmother's wedding rings and it's just a way to feel close to the person that you have loved.

02:42:21 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 10:

Lindsay, what are your thoughts, Lindsay? It's Mojo on the Morning Second Date Update.

02:42:25 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 9:

Hi, hon. First time, long time. Hey there. Oh, Lindsay on the phone. My thing is, what if she had a tattoo that symbolized, you know, her ex-husband, you know, her widow?

02:42:41 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 10:

Yeah.

02:42:42 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 9:

It's still her husband.

02:42:43 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 10:

I mean, no, I agree with you. Yeah, there's other symbolisms, and is he going to have a hard time with that? Would you have had a hard time if she had a tattoo, Jeremy?

02:42:53 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 3:

That's different. A tattoo is just on you. The ring, you have the choice. You can take it off. Exactly.

02:43:00 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 5:

She's making the active choice to put the ring on, and it just seems like she is not ready to move on.

02:43:10 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 4:

But it's a part of her. Yeah, I don't think those are mutually exclusive things.

02:43:15 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 10:

Jen, what are your thoughts? Second date update.

02:43:18 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 6:

I was going to say Jeremy could have just asked, but didn't Sarah just say that they talked about her husband passing away during the date?

02:43:24 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 10:

They did, yeah. And she talked about the ring.

02:43:28 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 6:

As a married person, I feel naked when I don't have my ring on. I freak out. I feel like I'm missing something, you know? So I don't know. I feel like maybe, possibly, maybe try to put it on a necklace or something if you think it's going to create problems in the future. But obviously, this guy is just not the one.

02:43:52 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 10:

Christina, what's up?

02:43:55 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 7:

Hi. So, he has every right to feel, like, a little uncomfortable with it, thinking maybe she hasn't moved on. That's fine. But the way that he's reacting to it, like, he's like, it was five years ago. Like, dude, it wasn't a breakup. a person that passed away. You know what I mean? He's like, get over it.

02:44:12 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 10:

I know.

02:44:13 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, and he's so crazy. I hate his voice, too, okay?

02:44:19 - 02:44:23 | Speaker 10:

Thank you for the call, Christina. Alan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:44:24 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. First time caller. Hey, buddy. Hey, Elizabeth, phone. I just want to say, this guy is a sensitive jerk.

02:44:55 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 10:

And, Alan, I'm assuming that you know that your wife loves him.

02:45:00 - 02:45:03 | Speaker 2:

loves you, but you also know that she loved her husband.

02:45:04 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't try to compare us. It's two different things. She has a son who actually just asked me to adopt him recently. That's awesome. We still have their wedding picture up in his bedroom. I still talk about his dad with him

02:45:19 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 2:

daily. It's just ridiculous. What can you say to Sarah that would make her feel better after getting rejected like this?

02:45:27 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 1:

Move on. This guy's a jerk. He did her a favor. By showing his true colors right away.

02:45:32 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 2:

And there are good guys out there like yourself.

02:45:35 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 1:

So I appreciate that.

02:45:36 - 02:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, buddy. Appreciate it.

02:45:37 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 1:

She'll find somebody better.

02:45:39 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Sarah, I wish you nothing but the best. I think that you will find somebody that you can bring into your life that is somebody that's going to fill that broken heart that you have right now. But you don't have to give up your husband for that.

02:45:54 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

02:45:55 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 2:

and Jeremy I think that it would have been straight on just cool just call her back and just say hey you know what I'm going to move past this and just move on

02:46:05 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 1:

yeah I'll do that next time

02:46:09 - 02:46:12 | Speaker 2:
