00:09:54 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Shannon were you exhausted When this happened

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

I've been exhausted all week Yeah

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

00:10:05 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 4:

00:10:13 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 5:

i was literally six minutes later than i normally am and you but you're always early

00:10:17 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

when i pulled into the parking lot usually i know lydia's car is going to be there and shannon's

00:10:22 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 5:

And I didn't see it

00:10:24 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 4:

I was like

00:10:24 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Boy it is

00:10:26 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah I also left her Her spot open too I don't know if you noticed Did you park in that

00:10:31 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 5:

You did No

00:10:32 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 4:

No you took You did kind of take One of those She typically park Right next to the lady Don't take her spots

00:10:37 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

Mojo whenever Whenever he comes in After me He always leaves that spot And parks one over Do you know how I can tell He likes you more He would never do that He would never It always makes me smile When I see that spot open It's open

00:10:51 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 4:

And then I put the, you know, and then I leave a little treat right at the front.

00:10:55 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 5:

Like a mint on your pillow.

00:10:57 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 1:

A little dollar bill.

00:11:00 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 5:

Yesterday, though, I got home from the station. I had run a bunch of errands after the show. And I had the kids with me yesterday. And when we got home, I was so freaking exhausted. I mean, it was to that point where I could barely keep my eyes open. And I'm like, if I don't lay down, the rest of my day is going to be wrecked. so I told them I was like you guys can you watch you know like a movie put on a movie or something for an hour so mom can take a nap and they were both totally fine with that which thank god they're at an age where I don't have to like worry about them well wrong I do when I woke up I could not make this up Smith's hair he's seven was purple bright purple hair and I looked at him and I was like smith what what did you do because i'm thinking i don't have anything in this house that he could do that to his hair with he snuck purple hair dye spray i don't know from his dad's house that they had there to mine and just coated his whole head while i was sleeping i was like what in the actual f this child i swear and the best part is we had to go see katrina over at six salon like as soon as i woke up we walked in and she just like burst out laughing

00:12:18 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 4:

she's like smith what'd you do to your hair is it able to come out of her out of his hair before

00:12:22 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 5:

school it did come out i don't even know what i still can't find whatever it is that he put in

00:12:27 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 4:

his hair he hid it i know every parent i know every parent can relate to this when you fall asleep or you're not looking what did your kid do what did what did they do it's like oh my god you can't even leave him for a second or fall asleep for one second 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 call out

00:12:49 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 5:

the little pain in the ass here's the best part of this story and i forgot to tell you guys this so i at some point when i was i was literally asleep for less than an hour he had also gone to his friend's house down the street and apparently was the this friend and his brother were selling corn from their family's farm. And he ended up on our neighborhood Facebook page selling, look at him showing this to Megan, selling corn with his bright purple hair. Oh, it's really cute.

00:13:22 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even have to see the picture.

00:13:24 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 5:

I was dying. I'm like, so not only did he dye his hair, he went down the street and was selling corn during my nap and ended up on our neighborhood Facebook page. Look at this. Buy 12 for $5. I literally set my alarm for one hour from the time I went upstairs.

00:13:40 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 4:

All that in an hour? This kid is amazing.

00:13:42 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 5:

Died his hair, sold some corn. Did he get dyes all over the place? Nothing. I don't know where this took place. He took that time to go do whatever he wanted. Go ahead, Megan. I just think that this is payback for all of your days on work tour. This is you.

00:13:59 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that is purple.

00:14:02 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, for real, for real. Hey, Paul, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What did your kid do?

00:14:08 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 3:

She was going into kindergarten, and she drew backwards fives and blue Sharpie on her sister, circled her nipples, her butthole.

00:14:22 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 4:

What were you doing? Were you sleeping?

00:14:26 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we were sleeping. This was at like 5 o'clock in the morning.

00:14:29 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. How good were the circle around the butthole? Was it pretty good?

00:14:34 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. It was horrible. It was bad.

00:14:39 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 4:

I always say as long as they don't draw on the walls of the furniture. What's up, Eve? How you doing?

00:14:44 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Yeah, when my son was about three, I came into the kitchen, and he's standing in front of the refrigerator with a carton of eggs and dropping them on the floor like water balloons. Just watching them explode, watching the eggs go everywhere.

00:15:00 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, what the heck are you doing?

00:15:03 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 7:

It's one of those things where you're so angry about what just happened, but you're going to look back on it one day like today and be able to laugh a little bit at it. That's great.

00:15:12 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 3:

And then another time when I was just sitting there with him, he's chewing gum, and all of a sudden he whips it out of his mouth, pulls his hair up, and puts it in his hair. I'm like, whips it in his hair.

00:15:23 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Speaking of hair, 734 says, oh, my God. 734 says, speaking of hair, she says, I fell asleep and woke up to my hair being cut. My son started clipping my hair with scissors.

00:15:38 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 8:

Okay, I would actually die.

00:15:40 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 7:

That would be one of those ones where it's like, I'm sorry, but I got to get angry for a while on that one. A couple of other texters I want to grab here real quick. 313 says, woke up to my car being on in the driveway. Could you imagine that? Your kid just all of a sudden randomly takes your car. And then another person here says, woke up to magic marker all over my kitchen countertops. It's still there. What's up, Mike? How you doing?

00:16:09 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 6:

Doing good, Mojo. How are you?

00:16:11 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 7:

Fantastic. Shannon was so exhausted. She slept for one hour yesterday and then woke up to her son with purple hair. What do you got?

00:16:18 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 6:

My wife fell asleep for like 20 minutes on the couch. my three-year-old we had an indoor um bought it from like jc penny it was like a cardboard fold open slide it was actually really sturdy it sounds bad but yeah it was an indoor slide for her so she had pooped her pants took off her diaper proceeded with poopy butt cheeks to slide down the slide then she took all of her barbies her barbie dream van that everything that she had gone for Christmas that year, and they all got to ride through the poop, too.

00:16:53 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 4:

And she made a slip-and-slide.

00:16:57 - 00:17:08 | Speaker 6:

Yep, so we had spent, like, about $120 on this Barbie, this dream van and everything, another $40 on the slide, and it all got to go to the garbage.

00:17:09 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no. Did you get pictures, at least, so you have that in some kind of a... My wife

00:17:14 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 6:

has a video of waking up to the mayhem, and it's pretty hilarious. My daughter's just sitting there just like rubbing a Barbie back and forth through the poop on the slides looking at her like she has done nothing wrong and discovered some great new games.

00:17:33 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30. On the 40. But that's okay. Dirty time. That's it. We're still getting it in. That's pretty average. We're still doing okay. Some new photo evidence submitted in court are, is giving us even more insight into Diddy's behavior at his freak-off parties where he allegedly assaulted men and women and minors. These new images that we're seeing, and you can Google to see what I'm talking about here, they show Diddy dancing at a party at his suite at the Planet Hollywood Hotel while surrounded by young ladies and bottles of vodka. And you also see on the table, in the middle of all of this happening, plastic vials that were allegedly used by Diddy or his staffers to slip GHB into drinks. Right there out in the open, you can see them. You know what they are. Attorney Tony Busby's latest filing alleges that Diddy sexually assaulted at least seven victims, one of whom was just 13 at the time. He represents all of them. The now 37-year-old woman claims that Diddy and two other celebrities raped her at this 2000 MTV VMAs after party at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. Beyonce is set to appear at Kamala Harris's rally in Houston, Texas, her hometown tonight. That is happening. The venue is yet to be announced. I don't have any info on whether Beyonce is set to perform or speak. I just know she is going to be there. And I believe her mama, Tina, is going to be there as well. Do we think she's going to perform her campaign song live? That's why it makes the most sense to me. So is Kendrick going to be there?

00:23:03 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 2:

No, I'd probably not.

00:23:05 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 1:

No? I don't think so. I can't take him seriously.

00:23:08 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 2:

Why? Why can't you take me seriously?

00:23:11 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 1:

So just so you know, Kev is currently dressed from head to toe like Lord Farquaad. Yes, some true major. And he keeps playing with his hair.

00:23:21 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 2:

00:28:19 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 2:

I'm listening every morning and I'm getting them all right. But now when I'm live, I've got nothing right. You're so pretty, Jennifer.

00:28:26 - 00:28:45 | Speaker 4:

You're a dumb person. One out of five. That's what you're up against, Darren, okay? All right. All right, here we go. Question one. Happy birthday to Katy Perry. She turns the big 4-0 today. Which of these songs is not a Katy Perry song? Is it A, Lunch, B, E, T, or C, Dark Horse?

00:28:47 - 00:28:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh. Three seconds. Once.

00:28:51 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, win with a tie right there. But let's keep going. Question number two. The guy behind Barstool Sports is coming out to say that he's officially a Zach Bryan hater. After the news broke that Zach cheated on his girlfriend, Brianna Chicken Fry. What is this Barstool Sports guy's name?

00:29:09 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 3:

David. David something. Three seconds. Two. David. What?

00:29:18 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 4:

I can't give it to you. You're so close. You're kind of right. Dave Portnoy. Dave Portnoy. Yeah, there you go. One to one. Question three. The singer-actor who was hospitalized for a mysterious illness last year is commenting on whether Diddy was responsible for that hospitalization. Who is he?

00:29:37 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 3:

One. I don't think he's like this. One.

00:29:41 - 00:29:41 | Unknown:

00:29:42 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gosh.

00:29:44 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 4:

One. Jamie Foxx. Jamie Foxx. One. That's a big story today, by the way, we'll talk about. Question four. Prosecutors are recommending that the Menendez brothers be resentenced for the 1989 murder of their parents. Name one of the two brothers.

00:30:00 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 5:

There we go

00:30:03 - 00:30:14 | Speaker 1:

And question number five It was just revealed that Liam Payne Was texting with Nicole Scherzinger On the day that he died She was somewhat of a mentor to him What girl group was Nicole the front woman of?

00:30:17 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 5:

Three seconds Jazz, today was a tough one for me No it's not How do we not know this answer? The pussycat dance Loosen up my buttons baby Yeah. Oh, my God, you guys.

Hey, guys. It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5, 5, 5, 5. W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X Muskegon Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

00:31:15 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning Show. So, Megan, you came in. Boy, you came in fired up today. What are you fired up about? I said, save it for the air. I want to hear it on the radio.

00:31:25 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 2:

I'm so angry. Did any of you guys see my answer to stories yesterday? I might have a little hint as to what's going on right now in my feelings because I love not going to stores. If I can find any reason to not go someplace but still get the services, I am a happy camper. And there is a dry cleaning service that has like these lockers in downtown and you can just go put your stuff in a locker. Like you set up an account on their app. They give you updates and then they're like, hey, your stuff's back in your locker. Thanks for using our services.

00:31:58 - 00:32:10 | Speaker 4:

so convenient love that and it's just for dry cleaning yeah put your stuff in that's that kind of a cool idea it's almost like amazon uh the amazon lock yeah yeah so i uh get a

00:32:10 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 2:

notification yesterday that um my items are ready for pickup it's in this locker here's your code to unlock it have a great day thanks for using our services so i go to the locker i open it up and I'm slightly confused because there is a hanger in there and stapled to the hanger is a receipt with my name on it. But the coat that I dropped off is nowhere to be found. And I'm thinking, well, it's in a building. It's like a dark, like the whole locker is black. I was like, maybe it fell off the hanger. That's unfortunate, but maybe it fell. So I turn on my flashlight. I start like rubbing down the sides of the locker. I'm like metal, metal, metal, metal. where is my jacket who in their right mind works for a dry cleaning company has a hanger that they have to deliver somewhere and goes yes this person definitely only has a hanger and a receipt why would you not contact the company and be like hey i think an item of clothing is missing yes and then i call the company because there's a phone number they're like oh if it's after hours called this phone number if there's like um an issue with your locker so i call that phone number and i talked to a woman and she was like i got no idea you're gonna have a call back in the morning i'm like why is this listed as the help number after hours if you don't help i have no idea where this jacket is i cannot find a replacement for it i i thrifted it what so what jacket again was it i have a toledo fire department like you told us about that thing you're wearing that friday that's my plan and i needed it today because i was going to like rhinestone all of the patches and their colors and i got all of these like cool pins for it and i like i'm so excited to wear this jacket and i cannot get another one like you can't just go i'd like to go buy another fire department formal suit jacket please and i have no idea where it is Who puts a hanger in a locker with nothing on it?

00:34:14 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 1:

That is somebody that does not care about their job.

00:34:18 - 00:34:20 | Speaker 4:

Do we think that somebody stole it maybe out of the locker?

00:34:21 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if somebody stole it or genuinely maybe it just fell off of the hanger somewhere in the transportation or something.

00:34:28 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 4:

So you're – benefit of the – well, I was going to say benefit of the doubt. I would go right to theft. But I would think somebody just went in there, got in there, stole it, and then just left the evidence of the hanger and stuff. So you're thinking that some dummy from the cleaners or whatever put just a hanger with a thing on there.

00:34:48 - 00:34:57 | Speaker 2:

It's almost as if like an Amazon delivery driver saw a box that had opened up and is now empty and then set it on a person's porch and was like delivered.

00:34:57 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 4:

So these lockers, because in my mind it makes.

00:35:00 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 5:

sense if they have like some type of code they do so the person had the code so it's not like some random person could come by and be like oh nice jacket correct see see i wonder if maybe they

00:35:11 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 4:

didn't shut it all the way no it was locked but i'm saying the first time the the they didn't shut all the way somebody saw it open saw it in there grabbed yeah grabbed the jacket and took

00:35:20 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 5:

off with it and then pushed it shut and then pushed it shut they gotta have cameras because

00:35:25 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 4:

i'm going to tell you this when you see an if some if an amazon guy delivers an empty box in the box looks like it's been open somebody stole it your neighbor was a porch pirate it's not you know or there's some porch pirate coming by yeah i think you got what do they what would they call

00:35:40 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 5:

it locker pirate i don't know locker lifter locker lifter that's a good one i feel bad for you you were really excited about this jacket on friday i didn't even know about

00:35:52 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 3:

the pins and the sequins and rhinestones man i'm so angry it's not you have a hot glue gun at home because that's amazing i do i do uh but you would use some e6000 on this bad boy

00:36:04 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 2:

you can't replace it right it was a one-of-a-kind thing correct and that's that's not like you can

00:36:13 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 4:

go to h&m and buy a new jacket correct has any of our listeners ever been uh been robbed uh like this where they you know like i wonder if anybody's ever used because i i uh used for the first time last uh last weekend one of those amazon lockers i usually get amazon delivered right to my house yeah but we were away and joe my son was with me and joe's like we can have it ordered and have it delivered to the lockers at this there's a 7-eleven that does it and i've never done that before and i thought that was the coolest thing ever it was like kind of cool i could have it just delivered

00:36:46 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 3:

to the locker i had an apartment used to steal laundry straight out of the washer in the dorms back in college really this is kind of like that i had an apartment building though that had those amazon lockers in the lobby which was awesome except for when people would get their hello freshers and then leave them in there for four days yeah and then all the food expired

00:37:03 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 4:

that would be that would be the one thing i would go get fast versus my food Yeah, immediately. Wouldn't want my food just sitting there. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500 if you got a theory or maybe you might have a motive. I like it. We'll do a little Law & Order this morning here. I'm Olivia Benson. Mariska Hart. I just don't know how to pronounce her name.

00:37:39 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 5:

The first thing I was like, who the hell is Olivia Benson? You don't watch SVU? My bad if I'm not on my fees and cues. He didn't say detective?

00:37:48 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 4:

Detective.

00:37:48 - 00:37:51 | Speaker 5:

But the second thing was I know how high he thinks she is.

00:37:51 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 4:

So for him to say that you look like her, that's also where my mind is.

00:37:56 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 2:

I was with him in Las Vegas when we ran into her.

00:37:59 - 00:38:00 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Remember that?

00:38:00 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 2:

It was like the drop of it. Like nothing came out of his mouth.

00:38:04 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 4:

She sat next to us when we were eating breakfast. At the wind. Oh, my God. Yeah.

00:38:10 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I'm not joking. He was like, how do you say it?

00:38:14 - 00:38:14 | Speaker 4:

I know.

00:38:15 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 2:

How do you say her name? Did you talk to her?

00:38:17 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 4:

I said, big fan. 734 says, sounds to me like the person actually cleaned it out or that cleaned it, lifted it. That's interesting. So like maybe somebody from the dry cleaner possibly did it. Like the person or the delivery person from the dry cleaner. Another texter here. This is from 248. Says, I actually, Mojo, had my stuff robbed from an Amazon locker. It has to be an Amazon person, right? Or they just didn't shut the thing. Because when you go up there, you just scan that thing and that locker goes boop and pops right open. Megan, this is one. I'm a huge fan of Megan and I'm coming on Friday. I wanted to see Megan in that Firefighters Out jacket.

00:39:03 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 3:

What do you do when dry cleaning loses your stuff

00:39:06 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 4:

though? Oh my god, that's the worst.

00:39:08 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 3:

That's so well. It is.

00:39:09 - 00:39:21 | Speaker 4:

We went to a bad dry cleaner. It was so bad, they lost stuff of ours. But then they also used to smoke in the dry cleaner. And our stuff would smell like chemicals and smoke together. What's up, Brad?

00:39:22 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how you guys doing?

00:39:24 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 4:

Good.

00:39:24 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? So I went to a dry cleaner, and I am a mantastic gentleman. So I'm on the bigger, taller side. Okay. More bigger, less taller. when they went to give me my clothes it was a shmedium and I'm like I said this isn't my clothes and he's like yes it is it matches your tag number I said ma'am this wouldn't even fit around my arm

00:39:48 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 4:

it wasn't the same looking type clothes it was just a smaller size

00:39:54 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

it was this Hawaiian shirt I dropped off a straight button up

00:40:00 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 7:

Now, Brad, I feel your pain, brother, because when you're a bigger guy, there's not a lot of places that have our sizes. So if we are holding on to that striped shirt, we want to wear the striped shirt. That's what I'm saying. Which, by the way, I'm sorry. If you're a bigger dude, you can't wear stripes. Stripes look bad on bigger guys.

00:40:18 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 4:

Really? Well, in this one, it was a weird design, and it actually held in all my fantasticness. It was awesome.

00:40:26 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 7:

Brad, you're the best, buddy. Have we ever talked to you before?

00:40:29 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 4:

You have. I've had some interesting ones.

00:40:32 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. You're the best.

00:40:33 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 4:

It was a grapefruit.

00:40:35 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 7:

Oh, say that again?

00:40:36 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 4:

What? My wife did the facial treatment with the grapefruit, and I got third-degree burn.

00:40:41 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That was a while back. Yeah. Call more often, man. I love you. Thanks, man. You have a great one. All right. I'm going to give you a big old bear hug next time I see you.

00:40:51 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 5:

Rulo, Sweetie, Madison Beer, NCT Dream, Isabella Rosa, Juan Ho, give us a call. 95th Caller, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:41:06 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:41:09 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 3:

All right, I'm starting off with a big, big update to the Menendez brothers case. In case you haven't heard, prosecutors are going to recommend that a judge resentence Eric and Lyle Menendez for the 1989 killings of their parents in the family's Beverly Hills home. This is LA County District Attorney George Gasson. I have to tell you unequivocally

00:41:30 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 1:

that we don't have a universal agreement. There are people in the office that strongly believe that the Menendez brothers should stay in prison the rest of their life and they do not believe that they were molested and there are people in the office that strongly believe that they should be released immediately yeah it's very split the da said his office will

00:41:55 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 3:

call for a sentence of 50 years to life and because they were younger than 26 at the time of these murders he said the brothers will be eligible for parole pretty much immediately

00:42:05 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 1:

what that means in this particular case is that we're going to recommend to the court that the life without the possibility of parole be removed and that they will be sentenced for murder.

00:42:20 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, prosecutors are going to make that request in court today. Remember, the brothers testified at their trial that their dad had sexually molested them. And while the allegations were received with skepticism at the time, the DA now sees them as credible enough to warrant reconsideration by the court. The prosecutor's office has been reviewing new evidence in the case as well. Most family members have urged that the brothers be released. They were 18 and 21 at the time of the killings of their parents. They're now in their 50s. Kim Kardashian sharing her thoughts on this on Instagram, writing in part, To the brothers, family, friends, and millions who have been vocal supporters, your voices were heard. The media's focus, especially on the heels of Ryan Murphy's TV show, helped expose the abuse and injustices in their case. Pussycat Dolls alum Nicole Scherzinger was allegedly in contact with Liam Payne on the day that he died. And I did not realize that she was very much a mentor to him for years and years and years. Since the time he was in One Direction, actually even before that, until the present. And on the day that he died, last Wednesday, she was still texting him on that day.

00:43:29 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 2:

Because Simon Cowell gets the credit for One Direction, but it was Nicole that built the band.

00:43:34 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and by the way, this dirty is coming from the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, who is currently working with Nicole on the musical Sunset Boulevard. I want to see that so bad. He sees her every day. He talks to her every day. So he knew that they were still texting with one another. A new study finds that teens actually want less sex in movies and TV shows. The study was conducted by the University of California. They surveyed roughly 1,500 respondents, ages 10 to 24, And 63, like 63 and a half percent of people of adolescent surveys said they prefer that big and small screen stories focus on friendships, not sex and sexual relationships. We're getting more wholesome, guys. I kind of get it. Yeah. And lastly, Halsey has finally dropped her new album, The Great Impersonator. It's a pretty hefty album, 18 tracks in all. I want to play you a clip from the song Panic Attack. It doesn't sound like Halsey, does it? No. I don't know, but it's late, so I'm taking it home.

00:44:43 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 6:

And the concept of this album, she's like remixing old songs, right? Okay. I saw the artwork, like the great impersonator, her artwork is like literally her taking the covers of popular albums. Oh, so maybe. Like her face and redoing it. I didn't know if the song was next.

00:44:55 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I liked that song, but. All right, for all of today's story, check out the podcast on the totally free iHeart.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 1:

or video app, or mojointhemorning.com.

00:45:03 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 2:

Two dirties down. More dirty to go. Mojointhemorning.com. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Where were you when these songs played on the radio? I'm another woman that can take your spot, my apple bottom jeans. Play along with the throwback throwdown. After 8 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. 00:45:55 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 1:

And they're like, Mom, stop. You're annoying.

00:45:57 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh man I've already gone through and eaten pretty much every bit of candy that we've bought for Halloween Did you see? Okay, so I had to

00:46:06 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 1:

buy a bunch of candy because Luce has all of these trunk or treat events that I had to buy stuff for They have green Twix, they have green Reese's, they have like green everything this year The inside of it is green So of course I'm the one that's like sucker I'm buying all of it Do you remember green ketchup?

00:46:25 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:46:25 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I hated it.

00:46:28 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, purple too, right? They did. Okay, so they did a list of the best and worst candies. The best candy. Can you guess what the best candy is? Reese's peanut butter cups. Exactly. Number one on the list right there. The others on the list, M&M's, Hot Tamales, Skittles, which soon you will. I love Hot Tamales. You don't like Hot Tamales?

00:46:53 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 1:

Love Hot Tamales.

00:46:53 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

The consistency of it's gross. Why do I want to be in pain while I'm eating? None of it. I love it. You are not a true Mexican. What's going on here, Mike? I'm well in half. Oh, that's true. That's what the Irish side of you. Skittles, which, by the way, soon to be banned in California. They're banned in Skittles. Sour Patch Kids, Starburst, Hershey's Kisses, Candy Corn, Hershey's Mini Bars, and Snickers on the best. The worst candy list. What do you think is the worst candy list? I'm still surprised that Twix wasn't on the best. Yeah, Twix. Maybe it's on the worst.

00:47:28 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 1:

No, on the worst. It should be surprising. Dots.

00:47:30 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Twix did not make that. Dots. Let's see here. Dots, dots, dots. I don't see dots. That's half.

00:47:36 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 1:

Nerds. That's wrapped in like orange and black.

00:47:38 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 2:

You're good. Ready for this? Right. Circus Peanuts made the worst list. What is that? Circus Peanuts. It's orange. It's like they look like a peanut. It's like a styrofoamy type thing. You ever seen that? I kind of like those a little bit. Did you ever go to the circus with mom and grandma? I've been to the Universal Circus Which by the way Is definitely better than going to Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey I'm telling you it's more entertaining Candy Corn is on the worst Necco Wafers Is anything with coconut On that list? How do you not like coconut? I love coconut I love almond joy

00:48:17 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 1:

Give me all the almond joy

00:48:19 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 2:

Almond joy's got nuts York's low key fire York's the little peppermint vibe those are good York's peppermint patties they're not on the list peanut butter kisses wax cola bottles we're getting it Mary Jane's

00:48:37 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 1:

no I love Mary Jane's

00:48:40 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 2:

smarties licorice

00:48:42 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 1:

Canadian smarties good

00:48:44 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

Bitto honey and Tootsie Rolls wait a second

00:48:50 - 00:48:55 | Speaker 1:

The blue Tootsie Rolls, the vanilla ones, fire. Oh, I forgot about those. I'll take all those, too.

00:48:56 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 2:

You know why we know that Tootsie Rolls are bad candy? That's usually the free candy that they give out at your dentist or doctor's office and Planet Fitness. It must be cheap or something like that. What's the difference, Shanna, between the Canadian Smartie and a regular Smartie?

00:49:10 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 1:

So the Smarties that we have here are like those powdery little colorful things. Canadian Smarties are chocolate. They're kind of almost like bigger M&Ms, but they're better than M&Ms even.

00:49:21 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 2:

Canadian Smarties have cocaine in them. They've got something in them because they are delicious. You become cocaine bear when you eat those things. What's up, Stephen? How you doing? Good. How are you guys this morning? Good, Stephen. What's your favorite candy? Oh, Reese's by far. Yeah. I could down. I'm a two-year-old every candy out.

00:49:41 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 1:

Have you tried the Take Five Reese's? Those are the best ones. They've got other stuff in them. I like chocolate-covered pretzels. Oh, okay. I was going to say they have pretzels and stuff in the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

00:49:52 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

The original Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I like that cake. By far the best. They say that chocolate is coming back now. All the sour.

00:50:00 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 3:

stuff and taffy stuff that was part of you know many of the gen xers lives yeah as as i don't know

00:50:08 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 2:

about that my my kids obsessed with sour candy yeah yeah do your kids steven like the freeze dried candy that is all of a sudden all the rage um my son doesn't really like it too much he is really big on texture stuff but yeah it's the sour rope the um oh what is that brand that just came out it's like the they're almost like the airhead like airhead extremes those strips yeah but it's this company that came out and they have this big display and every single time i go into the gas station he sees he's asking me for it he is obsessed with sour candy

00:50:44 - 00:51:17 | Speaker 3:

dropping new candies um well i'm gonna say this to you if you're buying candy right now it's a bad thing because having it in the house is not a good situation because a sober october uh was supposed to be also sugarless october and it's very difficult how long did you last well i did have a drink at the wedding that i went to this weekend but i have had a couple of pieces of candy like i've had to really stop myself it's been bad was there a punishment if you broke uh uh yes uh punished the punishment was i had to keep looking at my naked body in the mirror every single morning.

00:51:18 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 4:

Don't say that. Oh, that's not a punishment. Fat boy.

00:51:22 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 3:

That was my punishment.

00:51:25 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 4:

Do you have any idea how heavy you are?

00:51:28 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Stop. This is so sad. Like, Jesus, who is that guy? That's Cocaine Bear.

00:51:35 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

Why do I truly picture you like Mulan? Like, who is that?

00:51:40 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 3:

the other thing with uh with halloween and candy and stuff is uh halloween decorations and shannon says that her neighbors are all trying to uh to make sure that they decorate up the neighborhood and some of the neighbors are maybe not doing the greatest of job of uh keeping the peace in

00:52:02 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 1:

the neighborhood because of their decorations halloween is the new christmas and we've talked about this for the past couple of years where people get into decorating more for Halloween than Christmas, myself included. I love decorating for Halloween. But do any of you guys have the neighbor that has the Halloween decoration that is just so goddarn annoying? Because I have a neighbor who has, I think it might be taller than my skelly, my big skeleton that I have in my yard. And it's a Grim Reaper with like a skeleton face. It's terrifying looking. Really? Which I love Halloween decorations. I'm all for it. But this thing goes off all night long. Oh, really? So even when I'm walking from my garage to my car in the morning to come to the studio, it's going, I'm trying to think of one of the free, before you are doomed, save the last dance for me. And I'm like, how in the heck? It has all these, it is 24-7.

00:53:02 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 3:

It's based off of motion detection or something?

00:53:05 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't think it is because I'm not by it. And unless like a raccoon, but I hear it all the time, like 100% of the time. I think it's the one, it's like the expensive, expensive one from Oriental Trading or Party City or one of those places. And it's, you can have it on different.

00:53:25 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

00:53:26 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 1:

It can be, it can be steady. It can be motion activated. It can be like you can step on a pad and make it go off. But I think they have it on go all the time. And so it's constantly saying stuff.

00:53:38 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 3:

I was told by the neighbor that my skeleton was too scary. But if you got a noisy one, noisy is different than scary. Like walking by, you don't have to look at it. But noisy is annoying.

00:53:47 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 4:

No, no. There's only one acceptable Halloween decoration. And that is Lewis, the jack-o'-lantern.

00:53:54 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 3:

Lewis. What's Lewis, the jack-o'-lantern?

00:53:56 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 4:

You guys don't know Lewis, the jack-o'-lantern? No. Oh, my God. It's a giant jack-o'-lantern, but he's so sassy, and it's hysterical. He goes, I am not a jack-o'-lantern. My name is Louis. And it's so funny. It's so funny.

00:54:11 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 3:

Wait, and it just randomly just starts playing that while you're in front of your house?

00:54:16 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 1:

But it's the best. He looks friendly. This is actually really freaky. I'm trying to think. Last night, welcome to the afterlife. I got to record him.

00:54:26 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 3:

That would honestly annoy the crap out of me, though. There was one neighbor in my old neighborhood that used to decorate for Halloween, and they had a thing that would go, and it would blow white smoke or cloudy smoke and stuff all over, and every probably five minutes or so, the thing would go, and it would just start making noises, and I couldn't have my windows open on a good, nice, crisp night, because you'd have that damn thing.

00:54:54 - 00:55:01 | Speaker 1:

Again, I love all the decorations, but at 4.30 in the morning when I buy my... myself in my driveway.

00:55:01 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 2:

It's scary. It is so scary. And it moans. It moans.

00:55:06 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 1:

I thought they only went off if you went up by the house. I didn't know they went off all the time.

00:55:09 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 2:

Some of them are steady, steady voice or whatever. I don't know what you would call it, but.

00:55:15 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Drew and Dank are on with us right now. Oh, my God. Hi, guys. Misfits, the Plow Guys. What's going on, guys?

00:55:20 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 2:

No, they're my garbage guys.

00:55:21 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sorry. Drew and Dank, the garbage. I didn't know why I thought they were the Plow Guys. Yes, Drew and Dank, the garbage men. What's going on?

00:55:27 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm on the way out the route right now We heard you guys talking about Halloween decorations So We'll let you know which one of Shannon's neighbors Have good decorations Do us a favor

00:55:40 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 2:

I forgot to put on my garbage cans this morning Can you put them for me?

00:55:43 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 3:

I did Wait a second

00:55:47 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 1:

She forgets to put her garbage cans out And you guys go and get them for her?

00:55:52 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 2:

They do, they're the best

00:55:53 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, it's only like a 30 foot walk So it's not too bad Oh, no, it's no problem. We love you guys.

00:56:00 - 00:56:11 | Speaker 1:

If Shannon looked like me, you guys would drive right by my house, Drew and Dank. Say it again. Well, Joe, we would take your garbage cans back, too, buddy. Yeah, Lou would not. I don't believe it.

00:56:11 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 3:

My game's a lot brighter, man. You make our game go by a lot faster and a lot better. Do you do that for anybody else on your route? Yeah, there's a couple people and some older people we take back and some other people.

00:56:24 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Drew and Dank, the garbage man, Shannon's garbage man. And you guys got to do Shannon a favor. Accidentally roll over her neighbor's grim reaper. Make it look like an accident, like you guys backed over it by, you know.

00:56:36 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 3:

I'll back into it with the truck on accident.

00:56:39 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Do you guys ever get scared, like, when you're on the early part of the route by some people's house decorations that they have?

00:56:47 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because when it's dark out in the morning, people don't be paying attention, so they'll be flying by the truck and stuff.

00:56:53 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I'm going to say something to you guys. Watch out for stray animals I tried to bring out My garbage day is Thursday And so last Thursday morning I tried to bring some garbage to the can That I forgot to put out there I'm telling you man There was more raccoons Or whatever it might be Black squirrels running from my garbage It scared the crap out of me

00:57:14 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah we're having a problem with deer right now They keep running in front of the truck Oh my god

00:57:19 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 1:

I almost hit a deer the other day How many did you clip so far Drew?

00:57:23 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 2:

Don't tell me

00:57:24 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 3:

Uh, we haven't hit any. We're good. We drive slow. All right.

00:57:28 - 00:57:28 | Unknown:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:57:29 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 1:

All right. All right. Here these guys are. This is what these guys do in the morning, Drew and Dank.

00:57:33 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 2:

Love them.

00:57:34 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 1:

Excuse me, guys. Can you do me a favor? I forgot to take out my garbage cans.

00:57:36 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 2:

They wrote me a talk message last week complimenting our Jingle Ball lineup.

00:57:41 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

00:57:41 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 2:

They're very excited.

00:57:43 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 1:

They said hi, KP, too. Hey, guys. How you doing? I'm Shannon. I forgot my garbage cans. Can you go take my garbage cans?

00:57:48 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 2:

I have never talked to them like that, for the record. Have I, you guys?

00:57:50 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 1:

Does she walk out in a bathrobe? You talked to Drew, though. I talked to Drew. Does Shannon ever come out in a bathrobe? Oh, sorry, guys. I forgot to take my garbage cans out. Huh? Nah, she doesn't. No, it never happens, although you'd like that, wouldn't you?

00:58:07 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I want to be bad. We're just away from the door once in a while. That's pretty cool. Oh, yeah, with the babysitter.

00:58:12 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 1:

With the babysitter. Oh, so Shannon and the cute babysitter. That's the reason why these guys are spending extra time writing on your driveways. All right.

00:58:22 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. I saw your note.

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. KP's here.

00:58:26 - 00:58:34 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how you doing? Good. How are you? You know, it's a little chilly out, but getting ready to start moving around. Just running around a little bit.

00:58:35 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 1:

By the way, this is what a garbage man should sound like. You know what I mean? You sound like a guy. Like, hey, you sound like a man's man. I like that.

00:58:44 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 3:

I don't know about all that. I just got a really deep voice. Yeah.

00:58:47 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, listen, guys. We'll talk to you later, okay? All right, man. Have a good day. Do us a favor. All right, everyone. Love you guys. Hey, take a picture. Do us a favor. Take a picture in front of the Grim Reaper's house so we can post it with this audio from today's show, okay? I got you.

00:59:05 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 3:

Make us misfits.

00:59:07 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 1:

You guys are misfits. You're officially misfits.

00:59:11 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I got to tell you this, man. My friends love when they can hear me talking on the radio. They crack up. They're like, we love Mojo.

00:59:18 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 1:

We'll tell them we said thanks for listening, okay?

00:59:21 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 3:

All right. Y'all have a good day.

00:59:23 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 1:

Bye, guys. How does that happen? She gets the garbage man to go get her cans from her. I forget. Nice. My garbage man. You know what my garbage men do? My garbage men, like, throw my cans all over the place. They're like, half of them are in the middle of the street, so it looks like I put it in the middle of the street. And then the other guys, they let stuff fly all over the place. I clean crap up for my garden.

00:59:45 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 2:

These guys do it truly, not just to me. They take the best care of our neighborhood. I actually called their boss a couple weeks ago. Yes, they are phenomenal.

00:59:51 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Man, I need a route of them to do my route. Home of War of the Roses, the second date update in Dirty Eye on the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning. I'm so proud. of myself you ever heard sometime do something that is so out of character for yourself but it's like a big boy or big girl thing and you're like i just want to go tell everybody i'm gonna brag i actually am a grown adult and i lived my life the right way yesterday i had this happen i had somebody uh i won't say their name although i'm talking about their story they're gonna know what's going on but so i had an acquaintance uh call me and ask me if i would be part of their wedding and you know i'm not i'm there's no way i'm groomsman material or best man material you know what i mean like that's that's long been past me they asked me for those that don't know this i am a uh licensed through some fake church online ordained minister okay you may have heard this before i think it's the uh i think it was the first church of modesto california or something that i remember i did it on the air back in the day my producer wanted me to uh do a wedding on the air and uh so they said hey would you want to be you know the minister of this thing i'm like oh that'd be kind of cool i thought i was gonna be like a legit minister like i thought oh this is awesome man i get like the garments and all that stuff like they wear like you know the garments it could be like the pope you know yeah like i was like excited about that they're like no you wear a suit and you don't you know you're not actually a pastor you're actually an officiant they call it i love that you say officiant an officiant that's what it says on the actual license did you see that on your marriage license at all well we got married by a pastor i know but it says on the license officiant it won't say pastor yeah i know i just like that you stress the oh yeah so so um so these people called me up and i've done probably 45 weddings in my life done a bunch of them yeah i've done a bunch for friends done a bunch for listeners i've actually done a bunch for people that literally were just in jams that were friends of friends and i have not taken a cent for this i've had people buy me you know nice gifts like bottles of uh wine and booze and things like that it's very nice but i want to say this it is very stressful to do it's very hard to uh to do the thing because you feel like you gotta really get it right this is a person's wedding and you know i'm kind of a ham like i like to you know to do fun stuff i'm very serious when i do this because chelsea told me that one of the weddings i did the mother was really upset the mother of the bride was like really upset by how i was so chelsea heard it the whole time so it's like all right i'm not gonna do that anymore has anybody ever been before i get to the whole story has anybody ever been asked to be in a wedding and said no i would love to talk to you if you've ever done this i know there's probably a lot of people that

01:02:47 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 1:

would want to say no but has anybody ever said no 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 so shannon megan kevin yeah they asked me they say hey we there's something we would like to ask you i'm like oh jesus they're gonna ask for money and go here we go and they go we're gonna be getting married and we would like to know and i know why they do it they don't ask because it'd be kind of fun to have me doing it you know they do it because it's hard to find people to do these things it's free do you charge no i don't charge at all no that's why no because well you know what well there are people that do it for money i wonder how much they make i would do it for money i wonder how much that would be interesting to see what they make this might be my retirement job it would be my just stressful you can't be stressed in retirement i'll be uh no but this was if it's my full-time job i'll focus on it so they ask you to do it so they i'm sorry shannon yeah i'm i want to know that so they asked me to do it and i sat there on the phone for a couple minutes and i was about to say yes because it's hard to say no and then i was about to say what i normally say was let me check with chelsea i always do that like and then go i'm sorry chelsea said i can't do it uh i just said no i said i came right out with it i felt such so proud of myself and i could hear the disappointment on the other end and i just said you know what i'm just not doing them anymore i don't do it like i would do it for somebody that was really really close to me yeah you know what i mean like if one of you guys wanted to get married i would do it for you guys if my family wanted to do it i probably wouldn't do it i you know it's funny somebody was asking me this question about joe like who if uh where will joe get married i don't know i would hope he would try to do a church but maybe he's not you know he doesn't really go to church i think down in florida but um but i would do it possibly for like family but i just didn't want to do it so i said no good for you feels so good yeah it is so hard and i am working on this with my therapist because I feel like I say yes to so many like extra things and because it's I don't want to disappoint somebody by saying no but she always tells me the same thing over and over again but by saying yes to somebody else you're saying no to a whole bunch of things and people in your own life you know that that might come up that same time so yeah and i feel like we say no sometimes we

01:05:16 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 5:

we always got to add qualifiers to it too like yes when no is like a complete sentence like no

01:05:22 - 01:05:24 | Speaker 1:

No period. Yeah.

01:05:24 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 6:

I actually, when I'm saying no to them, I'm saying yes to probably sitting on my couch.

01:05:30 - 01:05:35 | Speaker 1:

Which is your evidence. But you need that. You need those breaks.

01:05:36 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. Yeah. Maybe not as many as I do take on it. Have you guys ever said no to anybody to stand up in a wedding? Or have you guys ever said yes and were regretting it the whole time?

01:05:47 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 5:

I've only been asked one time. No, I've been in two weddings. Gerard's when I was 17 and then my other homies when I was 25. Only two people have actually been married.

01:05:57 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 6:

But you're now starting to get at the age where you might get more.

01:06:01 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 5:

All the homies are already married. Really?

01:06:03 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 6:

Everyone and homies married. Have you guys ever been in a wedding and regretted it? I've never been

01:06:09 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 1:

in a wedding and regretted it. I've always been honored to be in a wedding but I have I was asked by somebody who was very very close to me to help plan her wedding and I wish I would have said no because I feel like I totally dropped the ball for her and could have done such a better job but I did not know the undertaking of like what I had gotten myself into and it was a lot

01:06:31 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 6:

it's a lot it's expensive on your part too right yeah well remember

01:06:35 - 01:06:56 | Speaker 2:

I told you recently I was like grateful that my friend who's getting married in a couple of weeks didn't ask me to be in the wedding because they're far away and I was like to pay to go to everything and she was like so sweet about it I was like no no no I got an invite to the wedding. I'm not mad. I'm not mad. I love you. I will see you on the wedding day. I am not paying to go do all of this stuff in Chicago all the time.

01:06:56 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 6:

Wear a dress you're never going to wear again.

01:06:57 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:06:58 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 6:

Darcy, what's up?

01:07:00 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, yeah. I was asked to be in a wedding as a bridesmaid, and I said no. I even went and tried on bridesmaid dresses with the bride.

01:07:09 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 6:

So you said yes initially, and then you said no.

01:07:12 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 3:

What made you say no then? You know, I didn't know this person very long. and we were both, like, very young, and we went to try on dresses, and it was just such a horrifying experience. She was beautiful, thin. I'm a larger gal, proud of it, but she just, like, didn't have any concept. She's like, oh, I want, you know, strapless, sweetheart, short skirt, and I'm like, girl, do you see me? Like, do you know what I look like? Like, this is, like, for her not even to consider it, like, hey, I was like, hey, I really want something with straps, or, you know, I'm more comfortable with this, and she's like, no, no, no, no, this is what I want. And I'm sure there's a lot of girls who have been put in that position. You can see it in wedding pictures where you're like, that bride made that lady wear that, and she is so uncomfortable right now. I just think it's rude. For my wedding, I didn't want to deal with any of it. I didn't have any bridesmaids. I had my sister stand up with me and all my friends that came. I did a destination wedding, and I said, you go get drunk that day. I don't want you in a room.

01:08:06 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 6:

That's great.

01:08:06 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 3:

You lay on the beach, you go on a hike, and then I'll see you at my wedding.

01:08:10 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Darcy, you know what kills me? when you see the girls that are taking photos while they're all getting ready and all of the skinny girls have a matching pajama set and then the plus-size girls, it's not. That drives me nuts, so I get it.

01:08:24 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:08:26 - 01:08:36 | Speaker 3:

He was just kind of rude and inconsiderate. And at the time, I was kind of right in the place of the moving and I'm like, I need that money for moving. And I said, it's not going to work right now. And then I saw her like years later. Sure enough, she had a divorce.

01:08:37 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, there you go. It was all because you said no. uh jennifer hello hi how are you good what's going on we're talking about uh saying no to

01:08:48 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 4:

being in a wedding what happened okay so i'm probably gonna go to hell for this story but one of my co-workers we worked together for like five years she asked me to be in her wedding she was like we both were just like newly engaged and she was like hey like if i um you know if i wanted you to be in my wedding like would you want to be as like a bridesmaid in my wedding and i was I felt bad because I didn't really feel like we were that good a friend. She was kind of annoying. And I was like, you know, I don't know how I feel about that. Because to be honest, like, I'm getting married, too. And I'm not going to have you in my wedding.

01:09:24 - 01:09:24 | Unknown:

Damn.

01:09:25 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 6:

You're honest. So you were like, you really don't mean that much to me to be in your wedding. Why would I want to be in your wedding?

01:09:32 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, the worst thing about it is she ended up dying and not even having a wedding.

01:09:37 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, jeez.

01:09:38 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm like, oh.

01:09:43 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 6:

I'm like, what? The last one divorced. This one died. Oh, my God.

01:09:48 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, I'm going to hell for this story, but I felt really bad. I'm like, I don't really feel like we're that going to happen. And then she passed away. I'm like, oh, my God. I'm so sorry.

01:09:55 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 6:

All right. I'll do that person's wedding. All right.

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 1:

You see what can happen, Mojo? I know.

01:10:02 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 3:

God. Jeez, these stories are... I've got a guilt trip.

01:10:11 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning show. It is almost time to give away a trip to Florida. We need one more person to qualify, though. This could be your chance to win a trip to sunny Florida. Give us a call. 1-800-44... What am I talking about? No. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-654.

01:10:32 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 3:

That wig is instructing your view.

01:10:34 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 2:

Here's the sad part. That wasn't off the dome. He read that wrong.

01:10:40 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 1:

It's almost like I can't multitask. I know what I want to say, but my brain saw the O's in Mojo and just read 8-0-0. I don't know what's happening with me.

01:10:48 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 3:

By the way, the temperature in Orlando today is going to be 87 degrees. That's incredible. 87 toasty degrees.

01:10:57 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 2:

sounds lovely to me listen i know this is the kind of year or the time of year where everybody in this area is like i just want a couple more days of summer and this trip sounds amazing this trip sounds like okay it's getting cold here now let's enjoy a little bit longer and that's great i'm a snow girly i want it to be 32 degrees outside and six inches of snow oh hell no yeah

01:11:19 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 1:

i'm over that man like i'm over it it hasn't started well that's what i'm saying i mean like i'm over it at this point in my life like i'm in my i feel like i dealt with that i'm not a fan of global warming but if i had to look on the bright side of things it's 60 sometimes 70 in october i do not want to deal with the slush the black ice i'm good with all of that i've done that i've made

01:11:40 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 2:

snow angels i'm fine you're so wrong why do you want this life it is not okay there is like truly my happy place and i know i've said this on the show before is when it's 11 o'clock at night it's pitch black and it's snowing and it's just quiet like that is my happy place but as long as it

01:12:01 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

doesn't in the morning i'm like how am i getting to work in this yeah all right all right all right let's qualify somebody we got a person from milford lindsey you on the line yes i am can me hear me i can hear you how bad do you want to go to florida lindsey oh it would be great you are in you're our last qualifier lindsey yes i'm gonna put your name in a hat we're gonna generate a winner this is incredible first off it's it's such a good feeling to be able to do this contest again obviously the news coverage has kind of died down from the two hurricanes that passed through. But we understand that people are still getting their lives back together from the aftermath of it. So just great for us to be able to partner again with Visit Florida and send a winner down there. Thoughts and prayers still with the individuals who are dealing with it. But we're going to have some fun in Florida. Put our name in a generator. Let me hit the button real quick. Let me add Lindsay in here. Still can't take you seriously with that costume. I know. Hold on, let me hit the L-I-N.

01:13:14 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Did you see his shoes? They have buckles on them.

01:13:16 - 01:13:30 | Speaker 1:

Okay, generate it. Hold on one second. Hit go. Here we go. Got our winner. Our winner is Grace from Howl. Woo! Grace!

01:13:30 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Yes! Grace? You there? Yes, my heart is beating so fast.

01:13:42 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 1:

You're going to Florida. So excited. Congratulations, Grace. You have won a trip to Orlando, Florida. We're sending you to Lake Buena Vista, the resort, village, and spa, just minutes away from Orlando's renowned theme parks. We'll send you through the central Florida Everglades. Take you on an airboat, Boggy Creek Airport Adventures. You'll go to Fly Orlando. It's the closest thing you can get to skydiving without having to make the leap from thousands of feet, which is okay. I'm not sure if you're a leaper or not, but we'll figure out how to simulate that experience for you. Everything courtesy of our friends at Visit Florida. Congratulations, Grace. Thank you so much. Incredible. Incredible. Are you ready to go to Florida? Oh, my God, yeah. You're going. Hang on the line for us, okay? Okay. Jordan Morning's Dirty on the 30s.

01:14:39 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 3:

You're already going. You're already going. Oh, yeah. And Shannon's being dirty.

01:14:43 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, is she now?

01:14:45 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 3:

I'm dirty. All right. Some new photo evidence submitted in court is giving us even more insight into what Diddy was doing at these booze-filled freak-off parties where he was allegedly assaulted. Consulting numerous men and women and minors. And the new images, which you can Google and see immediately, show Diddy. The one that I'm speaking about in particular shows Diddy dancing at a party at a suite at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. He's surrounded by young women in bottles of vodka. It's like all this stuff's on a table or an ottoman in front of them. And then they're on this sectional around it. And you can see on this ottoman or table plastic vials that everybody's saying, well, that's the GHB right there, just in plain sight. But that's speculation, or that's from the investigation? So the way that it reads in the lawsuit is, an alleged victim also supplied images of vials used by Diddy or his staffers to slip GHB into trace. Okay, but they identified, sorry. No, that's good, that's good. But this attorney that's representing a good chunk of victims here, his name's Tony Busby, you've heard me talk about him before, This latest filing on his behalf alleges that Diddy sexually assaulted at least seven victims, one of whom was just 13 at the time, at this particular event, which was a 2000 MTV VMA after party. So we're just, this is like a, I mean, we're opening the trunk of so much information related to this. So expect more to come out. One of J-Lo's ex-husbands, speaking of, has been accused of attending and participating in some of these freak-off parties during their time as a married couple. But in a post on Instagram, Ohani Noah, who was J-Lo's very first husband, shared a list of stars who have allegedly attended Diddy's parties. One being J-Lo, no surprise there, because they dated during the late 90s and early 2000s. But he wrote, I am not on the list, in all caps, to those people and media outlets asking if I ever went or participated in that piece of spit viddies freak-off parties. No and no, never. But my ex-wife, a.k.a. J-Lo, did ask her, oh, and ask her about the sex tapes, the 734 dildos, and the baby boy. Damn.

01:17:07 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 1:

740 of them things. End quote.

01:17:09 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 3:

What are you going to do when it comes out that she was involved?

01:17:11 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 1:

What am I going to do?

01:17:12 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you love her.

01:17:14 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 1:

I do love her. But if she was involved with any of the underaged or unwanted sexual behavior, then I got to disown her.

01:17:23 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 3:

Good answer. As they would say on Family Feud. Good answer. Megan and I are very invested in this story because we're the Broadway nerds of the show. Hugh Jackman and his former Broadway co-star Sutton Foster are in love. They've been keeping their relationship a secret. so this is big Broadway dirty right now they spend all of their free time together but they try really hard to stay under the radar lots of sneaking around now Sutton Foster who's like a star on Broadway very legitimate and very legitimately talented but she filed for divorce this week from her husband of over a decade Ocean's Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin and we know Hugh Jackman got divorced last year the year before which is what wait man if I'm doing the timeline right here isn't that when they started rehearsals for Music Man? Music Man. I was going to say, well, Music Man ran from 2021 to 2023. Oh, so this is after they started. It was during, which makes sense because Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman were in that together. Yeah. That timeline matches up very nicely. Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy is back in his friend Brianna Chicken Fry amid her breakup with country music star Zach Bryan. Dave has a podcast with Brianna, so there's definitely a friendship there, but he said he has never been a Zach fan.

01:18:41 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 2:

Are you officially a Zach Bryan hater now? Mm-hmm. Yes. Really? I was never a liker. How do you like that? I was never a liker. I think he's a fraud. I like, every time I met him, I was not comfortable with him. Use certain guys where you're like, okay, I kind of like this guy. He's a good vibe guy. This guy never gave that vibe to me.

01:19:03 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm. And lastly, have you guys ever eaten an Uncrustable? But have I? I wish my kids liked them, but they don't. Have you ever air fried one? Holy God. It'll change your life, especially if you've had an edible. Oh my God, I'm going to throw her across the street. Oh, okay. After the show today. But NFL players eat at least 80,000 Uncrustables a year in their respective facilities. The peanut butter and jelly sandwiches have become quite a staple part of a player's diet during practice. And at halftime, Travis Kelsey has claimed in past interviews that he eats more Uncrustables than anything else in the world. But according to The Athletic, teams go through up to 4,300 Uncrustables every week and more than 80,000 a year. The snacks are most popular in the locker room of the Denver Broncos. At least 700 Uncrustables eaten in one week.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, they have so many versions.

01:20:00 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 5:

too. They have Nutella ones. They got Honey

01:20:02 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 6:

ones. What's the proper way to store Uncrustables? Freezer. So are they frozen? Obviously you have to thaw them before

01:20:10 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 5:

you eat them. I kind of like to eat them frozen.

01:20:12 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 6:

Frozen? Like hard? Yeah.

01:20:14 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 5:

When they're like halfway melted, they're kind of gooey on the outside, but there's still a little snap in the middle. I really like Uncrustables.

01:20:21 - 01:20:32 | Speaker 6:

The grape ones are superior. When I buy them for Joe, you go in the grocery store, they're in the freezer. so in my mind put them in the freezer but when he wants them they're frozen well that's why

01:20:32 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 4:

they're good for school like that's why I wish my kids would eat them because then I wouldn't have to make different versions of a peanut butter sandwich every morning

01:20:39 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 5:

and I think they take 30 minutes to fall

01:20:41 - 01:20:45 | Speaker 6:

yeah it's not like so if he wants a quick snack it's not like he can just pop one in

01:20:45 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 5:

you can throw it in the microwave for like 5 seconds alright for all of today's dirty I'm a kumasula

01:20:52 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 4:

01:22:08 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 2:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live.

01:22:21 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 3:

on mojo in the morning i want to call out the people that are in your life that always rip you off do you have any people that ever uh rip you off rip off your ideas or maybe even take your style because again and it has happened again next week we're supposed to go to a halloween party and chelsea and i are going with a bunch of friends there's going to be probably like 30 or 40 people there it's a party that honestly i completely forgot that we had and so yesterday at the last minute i was talking to chelsea asking her about costume ideas because you know in years past we've done like the couple's costumes like last week or last year we did the the uh rip and beth you know from yellowstone and then in years past we did the filtered unfiltered we've done the wizard of oz like we've done all this stuff well this year i said what is it that you know you want to do for the costumes and she just said i think this one will be easy for you and i think this won't be easy for me and they are not even couples costume okay so i was like all right cool so i get a phone call from one of our couples friends that's friends with these people that are having the halloween costume party and the guy says to me he says well what are you and chelsea thinking about you know doing for halloween costumes and i told them what it was not thinking that this is the same guy that has done things in the past like the moment that i went out and got the chevy tahoe he went out and got the same exact chevy tahoe as me to the point that we go to the same party sometimes together and it looks like my car is parked in a different spot than it was when i first pulled in there because he'll pull up and the other thing that he has done before in the past i have bought shirts before like i bought you know some golf shirts and things or i bought But like Nordstrom's had, there was a Nordstrom's brand shirt that they had that is the Nordstrom's brand, but they make like this blue, black, gray, stuff like that. And I bought it and he goes, oh my God, that's really cool. Where'd you get that? I go, I got it at Nordstrom's. Next thing I know, he's wearing the same exact thing. It's like a little single white female, you know? And so I tell him what I'm going to be for Halloween. chelsea calls me up about four or five hours later and says did you tell so and so what you're going to be for halloween and what i'm going to be for halloween i said yeah and he goes his wife just called me up and just told me what he's going to be for halloween is what you're going to be for halloween is exactly he wouldn't tell me on the phone that so he didn't know he was going to do that right he came up with the idea afterwards and i was like what's going on which by the way that would bug me a ton tell me if you think that this is a stupid idea but i was thinking about shaving my beard into a goatee and go in as dan campbell i definitely think that's a great idea did you think about

01:25:04 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 1:

that so that was the idea of what i was gonna do he also has a he has a goatee and he wants to do the same thing and be as dan campbell so i was gonna be the dan campbell thing and do like the wear the sweatpants and it'll be like most comfortable costume ever have a lion's hat on i'm dan campbell pull five bucks out of your pocket i like it yeah i'm like you know what I mean like I I'm I'm the guy I'm the I'm the guy that uh that coaches the the lions right Chelsea dress up as like a sexy lion Chelsea has an idea no well you know what I would love her to dress up like a cheerleader they don't go together no our costumes don't go together she's got a

01:25:43 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 3:

totally different idea for a uh for a costume say it because then someone's gonna steal her idea

01:25:48 - 01:25:59 | Speaker 1:

true I don't you just here's but here's the thing my friend's wife never does this like she never steals the ideas it's just him that steals the ideas you know community is strong oh mike put

01:25:59 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 5:

this together for us by the way to get up are you trying to say that i stole an idea no no i'm no

01:26:04 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 1:

i was giving you credit for you put this together and i was going to play it right now because i said mike put this together for us here we go let me play one more time detroit's made up of great

01:26:14 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 5:

people this community is strong the city's been been down and it found a way to get up we're going to kick you in the teeth we're going to smile at you and when you knock us down we're going to get up, and on the way up, we're going to buy the kneecap off. This place has been kicked, it's been battered, it's been bruised. Before long, we're going to be the last one standing.

01:26:34 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 1:

How good is this, huh? Was it great? Who suggested that? Natalie? Yes, Natalie. Listener to Natalie with the idea. I like that. That is good. I'm going to have that playing off my phone, mike uh when i go into this halloween party as uh dan campbell as motors what is it to steal it now uh no my friend is already uh my friend already his wife told uh chelsea that he's gonna go as dan campbell what is uh what is dan campbell's nicknames is it motor city dan or what is it that they call dan campbell ladies yeah what's up amanda hi uh your friend is your 10

01:27:14 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 4:

you're a troll so it's time for you to get back at him this doesn't happen with guys that much

01:27:20 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 1:

does it where guys get uh robbed by their their male friends of style only in middle school and high school when it's over a girl it's funny it happens to women all the time i'm sure shannon

01:27:33 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 3:

and megan and kp and lydia talked about it before there was a girl who it was it actually started freaking me out a little bit like it was to the point where like haircuts and it wasn't just clothes or shoes or purses it was like it was it got real weird i'm completely the opposite

01:27:51 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 4:

i got the digital camera at a friend's house and when i got it back there were photos of her in similar outfits as me with my dog what what women are creepy yeah she took your dogs yeah well we were roommates and i was moving out so i you know i left the camera with the dog

01:28:13 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 1:

until we got everything the funny thing the funny thing with this is that halloween is a time where people will pick costumes and a lot of times won't tell you what their costumes are because they don't want other people to go as that it's like a tattoo yeah like you you want to have to be the only one yeah because if you go and there's like i think it was last year wasn't there a ton of Rip and Beth that went the same thing. And then also Top Gun. There was a ton of Tom Cruise Top Guns because that movie was so hot at the time. But it's funny that in life when it happens, like when they start doing this and purchasing, and this is the same person that keeps doing it. So keeps like stealing stuff. I should do this. What do you think about this? You should go as him. No, that's a good idea. I never thought about that. That's even a better idea than what I had. My idea was throw him off the scent of the dogs and just go as something completely different. that's the worst costume ever that would make you have to put on like 30 layers of crap.

01:29:10 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 3:

Makeup.

01:29:11 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 1:

And then when I show up at the Halloween party, he's dressed up in this uncomfortable costume and I'm dressed up in something like Dan Campbell feeling good.

01:29:19 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 2:

That's a good experiment. I've only had people like still sayings. Like I went through a big, I guess I'm kind of still in it. I went through a big shout out phase where I would just like literally say like, man, shout out Mojo at the green shirt or like shout out da da or just shout out. And this guy came around and all of a sudden And he wants to shout out things. I mean, everybody kind of shouts out. I promise you, Mike. I promise you. Nobody was shouting out at this time.

01:29:44 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 6:

Nothing makes me feel better than when somebody on this show starts saying something that I did. I'm like, I've infiltrated your brain.

01:29:53 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 2:

In my friend group. Let me just say that.

01:29:55 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

There's no idea as an original idea. Let's just put it that way. But it's the matter of.

01:30:00 - 01:30:13 | Speaker 3:

If you're close friends with them and they do it. What's up, Ashley? Wasn't that the cool thing in high school? It was starting a phrase and then, like, everybody saying it. Everybody doing it. Yeah, I always took everybody else's phrase. I'm sorry, Ashley. We were just still talking. We're all talking over each other today. I think we got a little delay. But what's going on?

01:30:14 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 1:

So my cousin decided to name her child the same as my child.

01:30:19 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's even worse. When they steal your baby name.

01:30:23 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And it was your own family member. So now there's the same child in the same family. It's not very fun.

01:30:29 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it interesting that people are real protective with the baby names? They don't want to do that, right?

01:30:35 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 1:

After that, I had three more kids, and I never told a soul the names until they were born.

01:30:40 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 3:

Yep. MCDC, Motor City, Dan Campbell. That's his nickname. That's it.

01:30:50 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 2:

Mojo the Morning Show. Listen, there is a huge football game taking place downtown Detroit this Sunday. We want to give you $1,000 to purchase tickets. But here's the thing, though. You know, we got to make it a little fun.

01:31:18 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 4:

Are we telling them now? Let's do it now. You know what?

01:31:20 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 2:

We're not going to do the 95th caller.

01:31:24 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 4:

No, I know. Yeah, okay.

01:31:25 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

We need three people to participate in a competition. Yes. So three people are going to win, or excuse me, three people are going to win the opportunity to participate in this competition, and one of those individuals will win. So if you want to participate in a competition, you have absolutely no idea what it's all about. This is your chance. All right? So here we go. Sounds good.

01:31:47 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 3:

mojo in the morning you're home of the war of the roses second date update shannon's dirty throwback throwdown and more phone number 844-665-6548 that is 844 mojo live shannon uh would like to make a retraction right now on the radio don't you hate this Don't you hate this, Shannon?

01:32:16 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:32:16 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 3:

You hate when you make fun of things and then all of a sudden you start doing them.

01:32:21 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 4:

Like the famous Jeep wave that you made fun of for so long. Oh, I knew you were going to bring it up. And then there you are doing it.

01:32:26 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 3:

Mine's worse, I think, than yours, though. I think the fact that I made fun of anybody that did a Jeep wave and then bought a Jeep and started being part of that cult.

01:32:33 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know that I was very public in my distaste. Is that a word for this? But I always thought it was such a cheesy thing when couples would talk about going on date nights. It would make me cringe so much when someone was like, we're going on a date night. We play date night on our date night. I don't know why that phrase really just hated it. It was just really cringy to me. And now I have to apologize to all of those people that I judged because I get it. Wes and I are, you guys, like two ships passing until, I would say, about 7.30 every night. Just between his work and my work and Aaron's and getting four kids to where they need to be and situated. And so when he gets home and I get home from all of our stuff around 7.30, even then I'm still finishing getting the kid situated with dinner and homework and bedtime which takes 10 hours in itself so I truly don't have any sort of quality time with him until I would say about 9 15 and by then you guys know we are zombies at that time like the only thing I can do is think about laying in bed and going to sleep so we started being strategic and planning a date night every single week and we even put it on the calendar I told him I was like can we please just put it as something other than date night. I don't know why I hate that phrase so much, but I get it. And I look forward to it so much. And I think it's crazy how much it helps not only my mental state, but our relationship in general to just have that to look forward to and also to spend a chunk of quality time with him without anybody else around. I think you don't like

01:34:23 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 3:

date night because it's usually the people that are saying that we're going on date nights that are probably the people that you're like, wait a second, don't you guys like early in relationships, you always think oh every night should be a date night you're always dating or whatever the deal is like the fact that you have to put it on a calendar like i remember we've talked before on the show about people that literally put everything on a calendar including baking cookies on the calendar yeah and i think it's like hey sometimes you don't you know don't get it and then all of a sudden you now have you went from two to four kids and you got what's there's six people in that

01:34:56 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 4:

house. Dogs. Six people. Three dogs. A ferret.

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 1:

Two working parents, no ferrets, I'm scared of them.

01:35:02 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 2:

I still stand behind scheduling baking cookies is weird unless you're trying to expand your family and you're like ovulating and it's like a reminder like now is the time we have to. I don't agree. Really?

01:35:16 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 4:

I don't. I think what you're doing right now is amazing because it adds back intentionality. and i think there are so many things that can go on throughout your day that you can lose sight of the thing that's closest to you no i agree you know what i mean i think having sex you should schedule it because if you don't you'll look up and that'll be another reason why there's tension

01:35:38 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 1:

in the relationship you know what's so funny kev so i i still agree with megan where like the date night now i can apologize and say okay that is something that needs to be scheduled especially now i have to get a babysitter i have to you know arrange whatever the the sex to me is still can you guys hear my asthma i'm so sorry i sound like a 90 year old um my the sex on the calendar to me is still weird however when wes and i were talking about this date night situation he made mention of this and i don't say this in a braggy way our our sex life is very very healthy right now but he his argument was why wouldn't you put that on the calendar and give it as much attention because it is so important as he's like you put you know reminders for lucy's girl scout snack on the calendar to make sure that you go to kroger and get that you put all of the kids sports and stuff on there you put all of your work stuff and he's like yet the thing that is the most important is the intimacy that you and i share and he's like and not necessarily in a sexual way but that is important and we usually that's the thing that gets like knocked off the list at the end of the day because everything else has taken precedence right you got so i get that

01:36:49 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

argument you got a family night doing it but i get the argument family night at school you got parent teacher conferences you got swimming lacrosse track and field cross country snap

01:36:59 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 2:

football flag yeah you're describing all of those things they're all to do's that i've got to check off my list and not forget to do whatever and not sharing a moment of intimacy and connectivity where you're valuing each other in that moment i agree very much not authentic and more like a to-do because i agree it's required yeah i don't think that's what sex should be in a relationship

01:37:23 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 4:

that's the mindset is that it becomes and when we view a to-do list we think task and when we think of love we think of harmony something that you shouldn't have to do something that you should be but when you're being there's going to have to be things that you do and sex is one of those things that you would love for it to just be in something that's free-flowing and something that isn't task-oriented but when you have a task-oriented life it just happens to become one of those things that if it's not listed it will be forgotten yeah it becomes honestly it becomes

01:37:58 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 3:

that like shannon says you get in bed at the end of the night you're exhausted and the last thing you want to do it's like working out it's like exercising is more important than having sex exercising is more important because it keeps you alive right i actually had to start putting i had

01:38:13 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 1:

to black out dim time well on my calendar or because if i didn't i i would do something else in that time and then and that's important to me right now right i have to put that on there and

01:38:22 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 3:

but what happens with when you don't put it on your the fact that you need exercise you don't do it because you don't like it to do it it's not that you don't like to have sex it's just that you got other things that you kind of have to cross off your list that become more important for you you don't want to let your kids down you're willing you're easier to let you yourself down or your relationship down then let then let your kids your work your friends but i'd much

01:38:45 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

rather schedule time to do something for my partner to make them feel valued than to have sex

01:38:52 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 1:

yeah because well and that's that's the whole like the i it's now listed as hot date on our

01:38:58 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 3:

calendar i can't even do date night so it's not only a date but it's a hot date um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 texas 95500 are there any listeners that do this where they put everything down they got their date night down they've got like they they literally maybe color coat their calendars and stuff. By the way, you don't have an actual physical calendar. Do you use your phone or devices or something? Or do you have a physical calendar? No, like this is my

01:39:26 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 1:

calendar. I know. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. And everything's color-coded.

01:39:33 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

You're very organized. She's extremely organized. Mine is I have notes to myself. Little sticky notes that I hope that don't go away. But you know, the interesting thing is that we have like the calendar that remember that would hang up in our cupboard and it would be the calendar of all the kids stuff and every kid had a color you know it's like you know red marker for joe and green marker for jacob and you know blue marker for luke but the funniest is

01:40:00 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 1:

can't put some of the fun couple stuff on that on that calendar or the kids are going to be like what's this calendar uh item here what's this yellow yeah what's what is that all about uh texter here says shannon way to go good job on taking care of your relationship uh another one here says uh shannon uh this is uh 734 734 says shannon it just happens once you turn 40 it's interesting i think it's kind of when you're younger time doesn't fly by as fast as it does when you get over 35 years old or 40 years old or even 50 years old it feels like things fly by

01:40:34 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 3:

the day flies by it's like where's the day gone older my calendar gets more packed yeah it's just

01:40:41 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 4:

crazy joe what's up joe hey good morning good morning yes you just need to tackle west get the kids go to the grandparents i do it all the time with my wife i get the mother-in-law i'm like Ma, I need to get some. You need to watch the kids.

01:41:00 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 3:

The sex is not the problem right now, being very honest with you. It's the date night? It's the date. It's just finding time to be together at a normal time of the day.

01:41:09 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 4:

Or even asking your parents or his parents to watch the kids.

01:41:12 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 3:

His parents are no longer with us.

01:41:14 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 1:

Wait, do you have that exact words to your mother or step or mother-in-law? You say, I need to get some?

01:41:22 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 4:

not in that exact term but she knows what i'm getting at she knows mojo or get one of your friends on the show to watch the kids so you guys can go out that's not no no they would love that

01:41:36 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 1:

hey megan that would be a that would be a friendship thing to do actually it's always

01:41:42 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 3:

the single person actually never you guys weird i don't necessarily think that it's the hard part

01:41:46 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 1:

is getting people to watch the kids it's the kids have so many activities i i've said this to shannon numerous times i think her kids are in way too many activities yeah i think those kids are they're each and two right now they okay so that's better than what it used to be more right oh yeah it was there was a point where she was like yeah i'm going to lacrosse swimming and some other things and i'm like and girls holy christ uh what's up mojo in the morning hello hello hi hi i got three

01:42:14 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 5:

You got through.

01:42:16 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Who's this?

01:42:17 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 5:

This is Ty.

01:42:19 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Ty, do you put things on a calendar? Do you have a calendar full of all your events?

01:42:25 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 5:

No, I do not. And I am with Megan on this because when you were dating, you didn't put nothing on the calendar. It wasn't that hard to have a date. It wasn't that hard to hook up. So now that you're married, so now everything will happen. How did everything get in the way now?

01:42:43 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's called kids. Do you know how many kids that she's got?

01:42:49 - 01:42:52 | Speaker 5:

You know how many dogs I have? You had all the kids when you

01:42:52 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 3:

were dating. They don't have any new kids. But our custody schedule has changed as well. I did agree that it was a good idea to schedule dates. It's the baking cookies that I'm not a fan of scheduling.

01:43:06 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 5:

I agree with you. Why is it just spontaneous? It was spontaneous is when you were dating.

01:43:11 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 3:

You are not listening to this conversation, so hang up the phone. Oh, my gosh.

01:43:16 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Wow.

01:43:19 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 3:

I will up you up, bitch.

01:43:20 - 01:43:21 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:43:21 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 3:

He's trying to make an argument that we already agreed with.

01:43:25 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 1:

No, she agrees on the sex part. I agree on the sex thing. What do you think about the dating part? She puts dates on that.

01:43:29 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 3:

Let me just let my kids run around the neighborhood while we go out. It's called seven years old. Done free, little one.

01:43:36 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 1:

In the closets.

01:43:37 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 5:

They weren't running around the neighborhood when you were dating.

01:43:40 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 1:

all right well well thank you for the call we appreciate it and by the way too this is my first

01:43:48 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 5:

time getting through and i'm a long time what's your name except you don't listen what's your name again his name's ty ty's on the phone like a necktie yeah like a necktie necktie is on the

01:43:59 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 2:

phone all right what's up jacklyn hey good morning y'all hi hey so uh shannon i get what you're saying i know my ex was kind of like that i i was we have seven kids so i was like please let's just put something on the calendar so we can have a date night because it does get so busy with school and and life and work and everything and unfortunately he didn't want to do it and so it became a point of contention i mean it's not the whole reason we divorced but it sure didn't help so if it's something west really feels strongly about and you could just like do it Once in a while, it might just put some ease in his mind. For sure, yeah. He's just saying that you're so important to him, and he wants to feel like he's as important as all those things on your calendar. He just wants to see his name there. You know what I mean? Yeah.

01:44:51 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 3:

Now, unfortunately, our date night this week is, Kev, you know what it is on Friday night. It's Maxwell. It's that concert night.

01:44:58 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a hot date, baby.

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 5:

All right. Get ready, Shannon.

01:45:01 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 1:

Get ready. Really taking one for the team here. He'll make it up to you.

01:45:06 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 5:

Juan, what's up?

01:45:07 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. Yeah, I don't schedule a dance, a darn thing. I live my life recklessly. You know, just as the things go by, you just got to do things, you know, organically.

01:45:20 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 5:

Are you in a relationship?

01:45:22 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 1:

I was in a relationship, and living in the city, it was just like that. It was, uh, our lives were so busy with the kids and whatnot and just, just had to do it when we could.

01:45:33 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 5:

Do you recommend that? Cause it sounds to me like it, your relationship ended for a reason. What, what did, why did it end?

01:45:40 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 1:

Uh, financial reasons. Being in the city, you gotta have money. And these girls these days, man, pockets ain't too deep now.

01:45:47 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 5:

They, they, uh, want, want more fun things and you can't afford the fun things.

01:45:53 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah, living in New Jersey. That's right next to New York City, and that's all they wanted to do. Okay.

01:45:59 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 5:

So are you calling us from Jersey right now?

01:46:02 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 1:

I'm not. I've been back. I was at the rooftop party. I'm the blue suit.

01:46:06 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. So you moved. Yeah.

01:46:10 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I moved over here a few years ago.

01:46:12 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 5:

Are Detroit girls as expensive as New Jersey girls?

01:46:18 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 1:

Quite a bit. Quite a bit. Not too much. The cost of living is a little lower over here, so it's adequate. Not too bad.

01:46:24 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 5:

okay the cost of the cost of dating instead of the cost of living that's real though i mean i

01:46:29 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 2:

don't agree with everything you said but it is expensive what about the high maintenance factor i don't know are guys just as high maintenance do they no i don't i just think everything now is considered high maintenance when a dinner like a cheap dinner out is 50 bucks yeah oh yeah well

01:46:45 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 5:

that's the other thing date night doesn't have to be out night it can be inside the house night

01:46:49 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 2:

right unfortunately especially when you're starting today you don't invite people over to your house like for the first date night so if you're dating a few people to try to get to

01:46:57 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 4:

know somebody that can add up yeah zach said tinder got different options now wait freebies

01:47:04 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 5:

you don't have to pay for that you gotta ask you gotta ask what's up david hi hi how are you good

01:47:09 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 3:

last call on this one what's going on so i mean that only makes sense as a guy a blue collar guy myself i live out here and uh i've been with my wife we've been married now for four months as of yesterday um and we actually have to do the same thing and set time aside because if not you

01:47:26 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 5:

just prolapse yourself yeah well then your routine becomes a routine of not taking care of each other and i think that's that's a problem yeah chelsea and i used to do it too we need to do it again too where the problem is just be intentional about that yeah yeah that's the number that's

01:47:42 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 3:

the number one uh you know the number one thing there is to keep your relationship open and communicative and be able to give each other that proper love and compassion yeah listen we we have

01:47:52 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 5:

a routine on the show we do things at certain times we do you know the dirty on the 30 and

01:47:58 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 4:

we're late with it so i gotta get to it all right before that last topic we teased a competition where out of three people, one person will take home $1,000 that should be used to go see that Detroit football team take on the Tennessee football team this Sunday in downtown Detroit. We got our three folks on the line. We'll start with line number one. Is it Hannah? Yes. Good morning, Hannah from Chesterfield. Let's go to line number two. Is it Jay from Woodhaven? i'm here and i'm ready baby good morning jay from woodhaven line number three our final contestant rosa from sterling heights what's up rosa good morning listen i love all three of you we got all three of you on the line right now just let's just make it sound crazy everybody say hello to each other hello i'm gonna win this sorry i love it as crazy as i thought it would All right, so here we go. I want to tell you what you're doing. First off, shout out to you all for trusting this crazy show and for being big Detroit football fans that you don't even know what you're doing, but you're going to do it to try to win. Here's what you got to do. We are going to see who has the best roar. I need you to roar like Mufasa in The Lion King.

01:49:26 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, like give us an example.

01:49:28 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 4:

Roar!

01:49:30 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 2:

I didn't expect that from you, but I should have.

01:49:32 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 4:

Here we go. Let me see your roar, Shannon. Come on, Shannon.

01:49:37 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 2:

Meow.

01:49:39 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 4:

Megan, you got something?

01:49:40 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 2:

I'm more of the internet R-A-W-R. Oh, like, rawr.

01:49:45 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

All right, so Hannah J. Rosa, we're going to decide who has the best roar out of you three. And the winner is getting $1,000 that hopefully you use to go see a football game this Sunday in downtown Detroit. Sound good? Can I go left? All right.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 2:

All right, so we're going to go in the order that we picked up. So we're going to go Hannah, Jay, and then Rosa, okay?

01:50:04 - 01:50:05 | Unknown:

Yep.

01:50:05 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 2:

All right, so Hannah, we're going to dim the music because I don't want anything stopping you. I just want to hear your roar. Hannah, the floor is yours. Let's hear your roar.

01:50:19 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that ended very, very nice.

01:50:21 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 2:

I like that.

01:50:21 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 3:

The crescendo, yeah. Sounded a little like she was constipated.

01:50:26 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 2:

All right, thank you, Hannah. Your submission has been entered. Jay, let's hear your roar. The floor is yours. All right, I got to put my T-Boys down. Let's see if I can do this. Roar the mojo in the morning show. Roar. Okay, added a little mojo in the morning show in there. Okay. All right, Rosa, last but certainly not least, the floor is yours. Let us hear your roar, Rosa.

01:50:54 - 01:50:54 | Unknown:

Roar.

01:50:57 - 01:50:58 | Speaker 2:

Was that you?

01:50:58 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 1:

Was that a stomach growl? That was not like a demon. Right. That was insane. Yeah, that was crazy. All right, let's deliberate. Where are we thinking? Rosa. I didn't even think that was a human.

01:51:09 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, see, I was going to go with Hannah because I've been there before in a bathroom.

01:51:12 - 01:51:13 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:51:14 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 2:

All right. So, Jay, unfortunately, it seems like you are not going to be our winner. We need to battle it out, though. We need one more between Hannah and Rosa. Okay, Hannah. This is their final chance. Hannah, we're going to start with you. Sudden death. Hannah, the floor is yours. Let's hear your roar. Hannah, where are you right now? In my car? All right, Rosa, you see what you got to beat. The floor is yours, Rosa. Let's hear your roar. Yeah, I'm at work.

01:51:51 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Trying. Okay, here I go.

01:51:55 - 01:51:56 | Speaker 2:

Hang on.

01:51:58 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 1:

You guys, there is no question here.

01:52:03 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 2:

Okay, who is it, Shannon? Rosa. Okay, Megan, who you got? I'm coming with Rosa. All right, here we go. We're going with Rosa. Yours was a spectacular second.

01:52:14 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 1:

Rosa was like, dang. We were never at work. I mean, we never do that.

01:52:20 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 2:

We have cameras here, so I can't wait till they're watching. Make sure you send us the footage if you post it. Yeah, send it to us. Yes, congratulations to you. Thank you so much for playing, Hannah. Rosa, you got $1,000. You're going to see a football game. Yes, bring that roar with you this Sunday. Hang on a line. We'll get some information from you, okay? Congratulations to you. Thank you. All right. We got some more Jingle Ball tickets to give away. You don't have to roar for those. Save your roar. For the actual concert. So you can see Jason Rulo, Teddy Swims, Jack Harlow and more. Looking for the 95th caller. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Mojo in the mornings. Dirty on the 30.

01:53:13 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 1:

I need our resident Swifty in the studio for this story. Because Swifties everywhere are going, oh God, no, no, no, no, no, no. It seems like Joe Alwyn, Taylor's ex, they dated for like six years. has been spending a lot of time with the Kardashian-Jenner family. Kendall Jenner, very specifically, listen to this Swifty on TikTok breaking this down for us.

01:53:39 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 3:

It looks like we're heading to a relationship between Kendall Jenner and Joe Allen, which would drive so many people crazy. Fans first started to speculate after Kendall shared a carousel of pictures from the Academy Gala. And Joe was amongst those who liked those pictures. And if you know anything about Car Jennerland, a relationship is usually launched by some pictures together hanging out at an awards show or something and an Instagram. Like, that's how they soft launch. This would be huge because, as you know, Swifties would go crazy because we know the paths between Taylor, Kim, and Kanye. And Joe is Taylor's ex, so him dating a Car Jenner would be wild. but also there has been and i know i live on clown street too but there has been so many rumors that reputation taylor's version should be dropping soon i hope it does guys but anyways that already is going to bring so much attention to the car jenner family because of the songs that are about kim and kanye on that album so what better than to get joe and kendall dating because that will bring even more drama and more attention to the car generators lydia he's fake as hell that's so

01:54:58 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 1:

fake he knew what kim and kanye have done has done to her and he was there when she wrote reputation so to go out of his way to now hang out with her and spend you think that's true like him and kendall i don't i don't think maybe they're together but i still feel like in a way it's carefully choreographed towards her and he shouldn't be doing that that's a boundary you don't cross even as an ex

01:55:19 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 3:

yeah so wait did she not cross any boundaries making songs about him he still follows her on instagram though i ain't talking about that i'm talking about real life doesn't matter Well, what I'm saying is, did she not cross a line by putting him in songs and having millions of her fans berate him and attack him on Twitter?

01:55:36 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 1:

But we all know. That's why we bring the story up right now. You're assuming. You're going to sit there and be like that. I'm just saying. She has talked about him in songs from what we think, but guess what? If you still follow her, that means that you might still like her.

01:55:50 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 3:

Regardless. His loyalty is to himself and his loins. If it was to himself, he should unfollow her.

01:55:55 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 2:

All right. This is a huge, sturdy story. Jamie Foxx recently, supposedly, because I can't, I can't figure this one out, but he recently addressed whether Diddy was responsible for his mysterious hospitalization last year that we still don't know, like, what specifically he was hospitalized for. Three different people who attended tapings of Jamie's upcoming Netflix special said he talks about the allegations that Diddy caused this hospitalization. But some audience members had very different recollections. I want to break this down. Earlier this month, Choke No Joke, who's like a videographer, producer, director, said he attended two of Jamie's three shows for Netflix. He claims that Jamie stated during the tapings that Diddy was responsible for what happened to him and that he is the one who called the FBI on Diddy. However, he was like, I don't know if these comments are going to make it into the final cut of the Netflix special. Asked whether the alleged comments were presented as a joke. Like, was Jamie just kidding with how he said it? He said, absolutely not. Meanwhile, celebrity security guard Big Homie CC alleged in an on-camera interview this week the same thing. I know Diddy poisoned Jamie Foxx, and Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it. and he claimed that his knowledge was based on hearing Jamie Foxx tell his story at two of the three Netflix special tapings. MediaTakeout.com is also claiming that Jamie alleged during his sets that Diddy had poisoned him and was responsible for the hospitalization. And I guess the crowd started laughing at first, everybody thinking it was a joke, and then they very quickly realized that it wasn't a joke. Jamie was very serious. And then here's the other side of this. Another attendee said he went to the second and third tapings of the show. He claims he heard Jamie Foxx say something more along the lines of, people keep asking me if Diddy was responsible. He was not responsible because if he was, I would have been dead. Wow. So still a comment about Diddy, but nothing specifically about him.

01:58:01 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 3:

All eyes and ears will be watching this special when it drops or whatever that is.

01:58:06 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 2:

And for the first time ever, Neiman Marcus has that very fancy catalog where you can afford not one single thing in it. I still love it. Yeah, it is kind of cool to look through. What do they call it? It was like a, I don't know, most ridiculous over-the-top Christmas gift or whatever. So it's been the Christmas book gift catalog for 98 years. And this year, they're dropping the Christmas. And they're now just calling it a holiday book. A spokesperson for Neiman Marcus saying, in the spirit of inclusivity, as it welcomes customers of all backgrounds, religions, and traditions to celebrate the season. So it'll look a little different this year. Not that anybody's buying anything from that, but whatever. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcasts on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com. It's the holiday that will be on your own front door. Celebrity Dirt.

01:59:02 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. can i can i complain for a second here right now can i just give a little complaint for just a second you never complain sir i don't i know i never complain by the way i complain all the freaking time everything is a complaint right yes that's my life uh but let me complain about a neighbor because i never complain actually i do complain about neighbors i so i last night i go out my my yard maybe the problem is i don't pick up my dog's poop and i just have it just sitting on the front yard i'm not i'm not good at picking up my dog's poop so what happens then is every dog in the neighborhood decides that they're going to crap all over my yard because a lot of people will use my yard as okay he's already got crap there it blends in with his yard and then my dogs get all crazy.

02:00:00 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

and then they get excited over smelling somebody else's crap. You know what's amazing about dogs compared to humans? Humans go into a bathroom that has already just been used and no matter how bad you have to go, you will not go in that bathroom. Right? Like if Kev

02:00:13 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 1:

goes... If it smells so bad, you mean? Exactly.

02:00:16 - 02:00:35 | Speaker 3:

Like if Kev goes and destroys a bathroom, I will go, oh, I don't care how bad I have to go. I will wait and I will go find either another place to go to or I will clamp back up and go right back into the studio. If only you were so lucky. Dogs, they enjoy their friends duties that they have. Sometimes they

02:00:35 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 1:

eat it. Yes.

02:00:37 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine if we ate duty? Has anybody ever, by the way, done that? Call us if you have.

02:00:43 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 2:

I've never been there.

02:00:44 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 3:

I want to know if there's anybody that's been like a dog and did that. So last night or yesterday afternoon I took the dogs out to go duty and I saw something on my yard. I actually sent a picture to you guys. I want you to look at something. That's the picture that's there. That is my mailbox, okay? At the base of my mailbox, what is down there?

02:01:10 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 1:

Can you see? I'm looking for the dang picture.

02:01:12 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 3:

Here, I'll show it to you right here. You want to see it on my computer? There it is. Exhibit A. What is on the base of the thing?

02:01:20 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes, that is a green poop bag. It's a duty bag. With poop in it.

02:01:23 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 3:

It's a duty bag wrapped up, right?

02:01:25 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:01:25 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 2:

And some extra poop left on the sidewalk.

02:01:27 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 3:

Why would a neighbor be nice enough to pick up their duty, but throw their duty bag on my yard?

02:01:35 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 1:

This is a thing.

02:01:37 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 3:

And it's not even garbage day. Like, I know that there are some, I know neighbors that will not let you throw your duty bags in their garbage cans because they get pissed. You shouldn't. Really?

02:01:49 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 1:

You shouldn't because if, if they only have like big garbage bags full of garbage in there and that's the thing that gets smooshed and left. It's so, it smells so terrible. It gets gross. Well, that's what they get upset about.

02:02:00 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 3:

And then watery. It wasn't even garbage. They just throw it right at my yard. Yeah. I mean, these people are savages that live on our street. They are, you are horrible human beings that you guys throw your, it's serious. You know what this is? This is no, you're no better than if you came into my house, crapped right in my toilet it and didn't flush it. That's basically what you're doing. You're just leaving it right there for everyone to see. Well, that happens

02:02:30 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 2:

too sometimes. Well, that's

02:02:32 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 1:

even worse to me, by the way. They just leave the poop so it can decompose or get sucked up with the lawnmower. But when you leave the bag and this happens to me all the time in one particular spot of my yard because then I'm like, now I have to go out and touch it. Wait, you have

02:02:48 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 3:

neighbors that do the same thing? They just leave the poop bags? At least

02:02:52 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 1:

a couple times a week. Is it because... And it's in one specific spot because the way that my driveway is it's on the side of my house and then i have this like little like area where it's like wood and then my yard goes up and then there's like trees right there so they always just it's it's got to be the same person because you got to get

02:03:07 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 3:

a ring camera they just drop it right there i want to put a ring camera so bad up front of my house

02:03:12 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 1:

i have a ring camera there actually now that i think about it you gotta look i have them they

02:03:16 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 3:

i have one in front of my garage in my front door but i don't have one that gets the end of the driveway i need i want to put a ring camera on my mailbox i'm gonna put one in my mailbox i want to

02:03:27 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 2:

see the person the mail person's face and then print out images and put them in everyone's

02:03:32 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 1:

mailbox okay so here's my question to you uh what is worse is leaving the poop leaving the bag or what happened to me yesterday because we are experiencing diarrhea fest 2024 in our house with the dogs right now i don't know what they've been eating so bo goes like we're on a walk and he goes to the bathroom but it's like really not liquidy but definitely not solid so i take out the bag and i'm like ripping up the grass as i'm trying to get all of this out and then i looked and i'm like well now i just left a hole in the first one i said like what's worse should i have just left it or should i have prayed for rain or a sprinkler system now they've got a bald spot

02:04:17 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 2:

bring a water bottle and just kind of douse it hope they have a sprinkler that goes on in the

02:04:21 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 4:

morning what's up maria hey i just want to say that i'm a little guilty of that but i don't do it for that reason here's what i do if i'm like power walking with a dog i have the poop bag i get the poop and i leave it sometimes a little bit on the side of the road somewhere where where i who will remember to come back and pick it up closer to home.

02:04:43 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 3:

But do you remember the 21st day of September?

02:04:50 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

But do your poop bags not have that hook on it that you can attach it to so you don't have to hold on to it, but you don't leave it in somebody's yard? I don't really want, I don't want poop.

02:05:00 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm walking, smashing, banging around. Yeah, it grows. So I just leave it and pick it up later, but I have forgotten one time. And it wasn't at your house, Mojo.

02:05:10 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 6:

Maria, where do you live? I know you live in the brown house down the street, don't you?

02:05:16 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 3:

No, I live in Bloomfield, but actually I used to live on your street when I grew up. Oh, did you really?

02:05:22 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh, wow, that's interesting.

02:05:23 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 3:

I won't say the name of the street, but I know the lake and I live down there, yep.

02:05:26 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's nice. Okay, well, you know what? now I know that you do this I'm finding out where

02:05:33 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 3:

you know what maybe you picked up the poop bag too soon maybe that person was jogging back and going to pick it up at your mailbox I should have waited outside

02:05:44 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 6:

what I should have done is I should have gotten like a chair and sat out in front and waited for them to come back put an air tag on it that's it put an air tag oh my god that's a great idea and then find out exactly who it was that did it hey thanks for the call appreciate you maria what's up chris hey how are you good good this

02:06:04 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 4:

is the pickle tongue girl from last week i remember you so this is great so this is what you need to do my dad lives on a corner house and people leave crap in his yard literally dog crap you know um all the time yeah and it's just one particular person so what my dad did is he collected the dog crap like over like several days, I think it was like a week. He kept it in like, I don't know where he kept it out and asked for details, but anyway. Then he put the dog crap in a pile at the corner of his yard with a sign that said if this is your dog crap, please pick it up and take it to your home. The next day, the next day it was gone. Oh my god.

02:06:51 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 6:

Somebody did.

02:06:52 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

That's when you've got to put the camera. He never gets cracked on again.

02:06:56 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 6:

That is actually great. By the way, Chelsea knows that I'm lazy as hell. I don't do anything at all. Can you imagine I'm out there shoveling everybody's crap and making a sign?

02:07:06 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 4:

Well, she might appreciate it.

02:07:08 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, she probably would. We used to do this with the kids where we would get mad at the kids and we would make them all go pick up all the duty in the front yard. I'm telling you, you couldn't believe how much bags of stuff. We think that the lawnmower goes over it and sucks it up. It doesn't. It just kind of leaves it there.

02:07:26 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 1:

That's how Smith's making money right now. Is he? Is he poop or scooping?

02:07:30 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 6:

That's his job.

02:07:31 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 1:

For real. He wants to make money. We're like, you can go scoop poop.

02:07:35 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 6:

You know what? That's good.

02:07:37 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 1:

He very rarely says yes.

02:07:40 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 6:

That's because he's stealing money out of your purse, probably. He doesn't need money. Preston, what's up? Hey, how's it going, guys? Good, buddy. What's going on?

02:07:50 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 2:

First time caller. Long time listener. Hey, buddy. Yeah, Preston on the phone.

02:07:54 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

02:07:55 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you calling. I want you guys to know I love the show. Mojo, you're the greatest.

02:08:00 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Aw, thank you, man.

02:08:01 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, congratulations on your marriage. I know it's late, but this is the first time I'm able to get in. Thank you. You look great. I love you.

02:08:10 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 6:

Aw, that's so sweet. What about Cav? Do you want anything for Cav?

02:08:13 - 02:08:31 | Speaker 2:

Maybe next time. In my neighborhood, they order us to pick up the poop. So my neighbors, they walk around with a bag. So if they go, you know, poof's in the yard, they got to pick it up, you know, as they go.

02:08:31 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 6:

So they actually have a neighborhood rule about doing this. What do they do if you don't pick up your poop?

02:08:37 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, actually, I'm in like a subdivision, a condominium. So it's like the HOA requires that you pick it up, so it's like they get fined if they don't pick it up. So it's kind of crucial, you know?

02:08:52 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 6:

We actually should do that one time. HOAs are the funniest. We should ask for the craziest HOA stories because I bet you people got some crazy ones where they get into fights and stuff.

02:09:02 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Yeah, that'll be something.

02:09:05 - 02:09:08 | Speaker 6:

All right, buddy. Well, you have a great day. It was so nice to talk to you, man. Take care of yourself.

02:09:09 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 2:

All right. I love you guys. I appreciate it, Preston.
