Alright, it is Mojo in the Morning. Thank you for being with all of us here in Detroit, Grand Rapids, in Toledo, and we are giving away tickets to see Taylor Swift in Indianapolis, and people are going crazy over this opportunity because we're doing 13 times for Taylor. What is that? We put together 13 of Taylor's biggest songs ever, and then we mashed them up into six seconds, literally six, count them, one, two, three, four, five, six seconds, and you have to tell us the songs as they appear. If you can correctly do that, you will win a pair of tickets to go see Taylor Swift in Indianapolis this Sunday. Here is the little mashup. Crazy. Listeners have gotten as many as 12 out of the 13, but they're missing one. They cannot get one of the songs that's in that mashup, and it's there. I looked at the way.

00:05:00 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:31 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 3:

Man, some big dirty news this morning. Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

00:18:36 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're going to be talking about this a ton this morning. Two weeks before he was suspended for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy, Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams Jamo was nearly arrested by Detroit police over a gun found in a vehicle. And now DPD is investigating why Jamo was released from custody after officers originally planned to take him to jail. Now, I want to give you the CliffsNotes version of this story, okay? This happened back on October 8th. Detroit police pulled over a vehicle being driven by Jamo's brother for speeding. When questioned by the officer, Jamo's brother disclosed that there were two guns in the car. The first was in the backseat. The second was under Jamo's seat. Officers found that the gun in the back seat was registered to Jamo's brother, who had a CPL. Fine. The gun under Jamo's seat was registered to him, but he didn't have a CPL. That's a big problem. The officer concluded that and essentially said to Jamison Williams, you're going to jail. Didn't know who he was. This was very clear until Jamo said, I play for the Detroit Lions. He wasn't taken to jail, though. Instead, a supervisor was called to the scene, which, by the way, not unusual for a high-profile stop.

00:19:56 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

We've been dumping, by the way, nonstop. I thought that clip was good. No, no, no.

00:20:00 - 00:20:04 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing. This new sergeant comes to the scene. Explain again, just because

00:20:04 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 3:

I had to dump, so it dumps you off for a second. I played the clip of a little bit of J-Mo getting pulled over, and you could hear a swear in there, so I had to dump that real quick.

00:20:12 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 2:

He's saying, I play for the Lions.

00:20:13 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 3:

He gets pulled over. He's got a concealed weapon in the car. He says...

00:20:18 - 00:20:20 | Speaker 2:

Gun's registered to him, but he doesn't have

00:20:20 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 3:

a CPL. Okay, and they don't know that he doesn't have a CPL yet, or they're figuring... I think when I watched the tape, at first they thought that, okay well he had the gun they have to do a background to see if he's got a cpl then they realize later in the stop that it's not registered to him correct okay correct and so

00:20:37 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 2:

when this new sergeant comes on the scene he instantly recognizes like it's jameson williams yeah um and so he is trying to determine if jmo needed to be arrested or if his brother's cpl covered both the brother's gun and J-Mo's gun. And so it still looked like, you know, over the course of 30 minutes that Jameson Williams was going to jail. But then all of a sudden everything changed. The sergeant spoke to a lieutenant who said J-Mo could be released from custody. We don't get to hear that side of the conversation and all of the body cam footage that is out there. So J-Mo was taken out of handcuffs. They gave him back his gun. no warrant request was submitted and so now people are going well wait a second if he wasn't jameson williams the from the detroit lions would this have happened this way no is the question everybody's answering coach dan campbell by the way commenting yesterday i trust this kid

00:21:40 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 1:

i trust him and unfortunately you got to pay for your sins you know interesting by the way

00:21:47 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 3:

channel 7 was who did the report in detroit the abc affiliate do you think there's a little backlash on their social media today if you read some of the comments people are mad they're standing behind the fact that now you're screwing us up for a potential super bowl run because jmo's now in legal hot water and now he's possibly even more of a liability to the team you know who else was

00:22:12 - 00:22:22 | Speaker 2:

mad the sergeant that was called to the scene because you can hear him whispering in one of the body cam videos to the arresting officer or to the officer that pulled over the vehicle. I'm so mad at you.

00:22:22 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 5:

I just don't understand why you wouldn't have a concealed carry permit.

00:22:28 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, because he's got a gun illegally.

00:22:30 - 00:22:37 | Speaker 5:

No, it was a legally owned gun. He was illegally transporting it. He couldn't have it under his seat concealed.

00:22:37 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 3:

And then he made the comment, and you can hear him in there. He goes, why do you have this gun? He goes, because I'm in Detroit. It's dangerous. That's one of the comments that might come back and bite him in the ass.

00:22:45 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 4:

This whole situation is just unfortunate, bro. Yeah, it really is. It seems like we can't catch a break this season. I know. We're so good, but if it's injuries and it's this off-the-field stuff, like, Jesus.

00:22:57 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 2:

Channing Tatum, Zoe Kravitz are done. They have called off their engagement after three years together. They actually got engaged like a year ago, right around Halloween. But Zoe had been spotted in public recently without her engagement ring, so you knew there was some trouble. It's unclear when or why they broke up. Real quick, Kanye West has ended his legal battle with Adidas two years after the brand cut ties with him over some anti-Semitic remarks that were made a couple of years ago. The CEO of Adidas said they reached an out-of-court agreement, which did not include any payments. So no money going either way. No more issues. Everybody moves on from this.

00:23:36 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 3:

Do they sign him again or no? Hell no.

00:23:39 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 4:

They can't do that. They already started selling his shoes, even though, you know, he was such a bad guy. They still wanted to make money off of him.

00:23:47 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 3:

Is he doing his own thing then by himself?

00:23:49 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, he just bought a $35 million property in Beverly Hills.

00:23:53 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so he's fine. He's okay. Yeah.

00:23:56 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 2:

Megan, I know you love this Christmas album, so I have a preview for you of this year's Travis and Jason Kelsey, one of their Christmas songs.

00:24:06 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 5:

And to be fair, I love it because it's funny. And it's for charity. It's for charity.

00:24:10 - 00:24:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, this is It's Christmas Time in Cleveland Heights with Travis Kelsey.

00:24:15 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 5:

It's Christmas time in Cleveland Heights. Hell yeah. It's Christmas time in Cleveland Heights.

00:24:27 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 2:

It's all I'm giving up.

00:24:28 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 5:

Smart because I know they get played on the Christmas stations. Yeah. In like Philly. Yeah. And where do the Chiefs actually play?

00:24:36 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 3:

Kansas City, probably. Okay.

00:24:38 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 5:

But is it Missouri?

00:24:39 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Kansas City, Missouri, yeah.

00:24:41 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I believe they play it there as well, but smart to say Cleveland Heights. Maybe they'll get it on the Cleveland State. Can we get a Taylor feature? Oh.

00:24:49 - 00:24:50 | Speaker 4:

And really drive up the ratings?

00:24:51 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

I can't comment on it. Bro, that would be crazy. That would be great. And lastly, this is big. U.S. Airlines are now required to issue passengers automatic refunds for tickets and other...

00:25:00 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 4:

Other flight-related expenses should your flight get canceled or significantly delayed. So cash refunds, ASAP, within seven days for credit card purchases and with 20 days for other payment methods. And here's the thing. These refunds have to be paid in full to the original form of payment. So no longer can an airline give you a voucher or travel credits. It's got to go right back on to your credit card or however you paid for it. That's how you're getting it back. Love that. Yeah. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcasts on the free iHeartRadio app or mojointhemorning.com.

00:25:36 - 00:25:40 | Speaker 3:

00:29:05 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 3:

All right. Passing on that one. Here we go. By the way, he did.

00:29:08 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 4:

Thomas. Am I correct in saying you only got one right? Sorry, I was double-checking the answer to one of those questions.

00:29:14 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 1:

You are so dumb. You are really dumb. For real.

00:29:19 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. Yeah, it was not good. Thomas Thomas, we have a parting gift for you. Question number one, Erin. Wicked star Cynthia Erivo is defending her clapback of fan-edited poster. Who plays Glinda the Good Witch in the movie version of the famed musical? That movie comes out, what, November the 22nd, I believe, right? Question number two. Lion star Jameson Williams was almost arrested recently for possession.

00:30:00 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 2:

Possessing a gun. What position does he play for the Lions?

00:30:06 - 00:30:07 | Unknown:

Wide receiver.

00:30:07 - 00:30:39 | Speaker 2:

I think he said wide receiver. Wide receiver, yes. By the way, Aaron got that one. Thomas, you did not. I've been a little bit shocked by that. Question number three. Elon Musk just dropped $11 million on a Texas compound for all of his kids and their moms to live in. How many kids does he have? Does he have A, 9, B, 11, or C, 13? Three seconds. Nine. No, both of you guys missed that one. No, 11.

00:30:40 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 1:

And it was $35 million. That's my bad. Oh, really? A lot more money.

00:30:44 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 2:

He's not being a good father. That's, by the way, $35 million to him.

00:30:46 - 00:30:50 | Speaker 1:

$35 million for 11 kids and two of their moms.

00:30:50 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 2:

That's like $5 to the rest of us. I mean, he's giving out a million every day, it seems like, right now. Question number four, in the classic Halloween movie, Hocus Pocus, how many Sanderson sisters are there?

00:31:04 - 00:31:06 | Speaker 3:

There are three, and Lydia needs to watch it.

00:31:07 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Lydia hasn't seen Hocus Pocus? No. Are you kidding? Oh, my God. And question number five, Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz have called off their engagement after three years together. What was the name of the movie in which he played a stripper? Magic Mike. There you go. Oh, yes. Winner. Congratulations. Yeah, Aaron. Winner. Yeah. Winner, winner. I like Aaron as a contestant.

00:31:34 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 1:

I hate you, though.

00:31:36 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 2:

He's a fan, obviously, right? Yeah. We love that. Although, I got to tell you, I think Thomas would have been a great one, too. Thomas seemed like he had a lot of energy. Thomas.

00:31:46 - 00:31:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm going to go cry in the car.

00:31:49 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 2:

Have fun at Stevie Wonder, though. Yes. Have a great time, buddy. Definitely. Thank you. All right. What do you think? Do you think Stevie Wonder's going to do a Halloween song, like Superstition or whatever? Will he do that? What do you think? This song is so good. Isn't that good? Baseline, crazy. Wait, where is that show at? Is that Little Caesars in Detroit? No, he was here at Little Caesars, I think, two weeks ago. He's in Grand Rapids. Is he? Yeah. All right. Van Andel, have fun, man. That's a good venue for that. All right, playing again tomorrow morning. Don't go anywhere.

00:32:28 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the mornings. Five is 6.55. Five, five. It's Mojo in the mornings.

00:32:34 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

Five to me.

00:32:35 - 00:32:36 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:32:37 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom.

00:32:39 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Greg.

00:32:41 - 00:32:42 | Speaker 3:

Yo.

00:32:42 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 2:

You take care of your mom and she lives with you, which is a very nice thing, by the way. It's very sweet that you do that.

00:32:51 - 00:32:53 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate that.

00:32:53 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 2:

Now let's kick her ass out of the house. It's five lies to tell your mom. Should we have some fun?

00:32:58 - 00:32:59 | Unknown:

Yeah, definitely.

00:32:59 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 2:

All right, here we go. Five lies to tell your mom. We made up a bunch of lies, and we're going to make your mom believe that you are no longer the good son taking care of her. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, someone is picking you up this afternoon. Lie number two.

00:33:18 - 00:33:20 | Speaker 1:

Say, turns out I'm going to jail for a few years.

00:33:21 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 2:

How old's your mom?

00:33:23 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 3:

Uh, 51, I think. Okay, perfect.

00:33:26 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 2:

Perfect. You're then going to say lie number three.

00:33:29 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 3:

All right, lie number three.

00:33:30 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 2:

The court is sending a van. All right, lie number four.

00:33:36 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 3:

They are taking you to live at Meadowlodge.

00:33:39 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 2:

Perfect, a good, nice old person's home. Oh, is that what that is?

00:33:43 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know what it was either. No.

00:33:46 - 00:33:47 | Speaker 2:

She's too young.

00:33:47 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like a retirement home out here. Okay.

00:33:50 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 2:

And lie number five, but they say the pool is really nice. Okay?

00:33:59 - 00:33:59 | Unknown:

All right.

00:34:00 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 2:

Here's what we're doing. We're calling your mom up. You got to do all those lies. If you get them all out, your mom will win a prize.

00:34:07 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

All right. Sounds good. Hello. Hey. Hey. Good morning. Are you home? What are you doing? I'm by my way to the cardiologist. Oh, perfect. Well, I heard from that court-appointed lawyer I have. And someone is going to be coming to the house of that dream to pick you up. Huh? Yeah, of course, they're going to be sending someone over to pick you up this afternoon. I have a point. Um, yeah. Well, so, here's the thing, though. It sounds like, uh, uh, Judge is pretty mad.

00:35:00 - 00:36:03 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to go to jail for a couple years, it sounds like. So, yeah. So, yeah. They're upset about that driving thing. So, they're sending a van. But I guess the lawyer was able to get you lined up at Metal Lodge. To at least stay at Metal Lodge. You know, you're nearby. Can you hear me? Yeah, but I'm confused. I don't know. I heard the pool's really nice. Okay, well, are you going to be home from work? No, I'm going to jail. Today? I'm supposed to turn myself in by three. Well, what, are you having me playing Meadowatch? Yeah, you know. I mean, I figured you at least liked the pool. I think the pool's nice. I don't think so

00:36:03 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I can't do this This woman's going to the cardiologist

00:36:10 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she sounds so sad But something's already wrong with her heart

00:36:12 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 2:

Hey mom This is Mojo from Mojo in the Morning Show And we're all here hanging out Shannon and Kev and Megan Hi mom Oh thanks Brad And we were doing five lies to tell your mom You know, usually when you have a kid call up the mom saying I'm going to jail it's usually somebody that's not the type that's going to jail but Greg is actually Greg's kind of the type that goes to jail

00:36:37 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 1:

You also didn't sound very surprised No, you didn't see

00:36:41 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 4:

I thought, yeah I'm sorry about this

00:36:44 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 2:

By the way, mom I just want you to know this son of a bitch that you got over here is willing to put you in metal lodge Can you believe this guy?

00:36:58 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 4:

But the pool. I was getting out of it.

00:37:01 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

00:37:03 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 4:

I was getting out of it. Yeah. He was putting me in metal eyes.

00:37:06 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Shout out to metal eyes. What kind of a son do we have here?

00:37:11 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 4:

The one that's going to be out of the will. Yeah, that's right.

00:37:15 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 2:

Mom, you're on five lies. Tell your mom he did get all the lies out. We got to give her at least a prize because he got all the lies out. Poor mom's still a little confused by this one.

00:37:25 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 4:

You better check your blood pressure, too, real quick.

00:37:28 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 5:

What a dick

00:37:29 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 2:

Actually I think her blood pressure went down Because she realized that she was not having to deal with your ass Greg

00:37:34 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the morning Five lies to tell your mom

00:37:45 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning Thanks for being here today Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Cav kp lydia zach bianca and all of us uh we got charlie and daniel good to have you guys here with us today megan got yelled at at the grocery store was it deserved i don't think so i think

00:38:13 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 1:

this lady was crazy megan what's going on okay thank you for saying that because i do feel like this is a mini am i the a-hole and i would like people to please be on my side for once because i emotionally can't handle if you're not gonna be uh i was at the grocery store yesterday did you see that yeah i was at the grocery store i had my phone set up like in the car i love new carts now because they have like cup holders and like a place to put your phone and whoever designed that chef's kiss to you uh but i had my headphones in and i feel like that's a very important part of this story is that i had headphones in and i was on facetime i don't know about you but i am the kind of person where outside of work i am on facetime 90 of my day doesn't even mean that i'm talking to people but like i just need to stay off of my phone and i feel like that's a really great way of doing it and there was a woman in the aisle behind me and she gave me this really dirty look and she said i don't want to be on camera oh lordy and i said well you know you're not and she walked away super quickly quickly like she rammed her cart around to me and walked away oh i want camera um i like i said i'm on facetime a lot i wasn't filming anything the person i was on facetime with was doing their dishes we weren't even talking to each other a complete bitch but Is it rude to be on FaceTime in public?

00:39:42 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 3:

I mean. FaceTime. I feel like if I could, I don't like hearing anybody talk when I'm in public.

00:39:48 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 2:

So is it the verbal? Was it the verbal or the video, though? Because for Megan, it wasn't the verbal. It was the video.

00:39:55 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 3:

You couldn't hear her at all? I couldn't hear her.

00:39:58 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 2:

The lady couldn't hear your conversation.

00:40:00 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 5:

I wasn't talking.

00:40:01 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 1:

She was on her headphones, too, she said. Oh, well, that's okay. The ladies, yeah, the ladies. So, Megan, how did she know you were on FaceTime? If it's in your cup holder, how does she know?

00:40:10 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 5:

Because it was propped in a way where I wasn't even behind my cart. Like, you know how sometimes when you're, I was looking for a certain spice I could not find. Crematartar is, like, hardly, hard to find. What the hell are you making?

00:40:23 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 6:

And if you listened to the More Mojo podcast yesterday, you know she's about to open a bakery.

00:40:26 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 5:

So she's been baking up a storm. But I was like, you put your cart off to the side, and then you kind of like crotch down because you're, I got bad eyesight too, and it's a weird little jar, and I couldn't find it. And they were not in alphabetical order, which is just mean. And I was away from my cart, and she had walked up behind my cart and saw herself on my phone and was like, I don't mind that.

00:40:49 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 1:

I have thoughts on this one. My thoughts are, if you were throwing that thing around like you were showing everybody, like holding your hand then I could see her being upset she had to look in your car right she was she was the nosy one looking down at your screen I don't think you did anything wrong being on FaceTime because you were keeping it very yeah if you're filming that would have been a different

00:41:12 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 6:

story but I feel like there are certain times though when you cannot be on FaceTime you I believe are fine in this situation I hate people who are on FaceTime when I am at a show and I'm talking like a disney on ice or a concert or something you are that is so irritating you know what why because people have their ipads for god's sake and they're they're they're giving the concert to you know aunt linda in the living room and in her house and like that's what i'm staring at the whole time also in the gym locker room which you're not even supposed to be doing that anyway that's crazy and i also think it's really rude i think it's rude to even talk on the phone if you're getting a pedicure okay facetime or talking on them as somebody who

00:41:55 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 5:

i know you have as somebody who was unable to get tickets to the renaissance tour i appreciate everybody who live streams concerts because some of us can't make this but when you're sitting right next to or behind that person it is there's etiquette so annoying you have to keep it at head level or lower you cannot hold it up above your head and film the home time that's rude but i agree with you on the other situations those are rude situations i don't feel like the grocery story no no who cares she's wanted by the law and stop looking at my cart that woman that woman's

00:42:25 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 1:

does not want people to know her where amanda hello hi hi did megan uh is megan the a-hole for

00:42:34 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 3:

absolutely not absolutely not you do you what gets me is i work at a doctor's office and i'll be trying to call back patients for the doctor's appointment and they're on facetime with someone we're about to discuss very private personal things we can't have you on the phone oh yeah yeah that's hipaa so there's a time and a place yeah in a doctor's office is also another one to

00:42:58 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 1:

add to that list nobody wants to be sitting there in the proctologist's office it's just

00:43:03 - 00:43:08 | Speaker 5:

it's got to be a butt doctor that you're supposed to be on camera or a foot doctor i think people

00:43:08 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 1:

with bad feet nobody wants to know they have bad feet what's up kayla hi hi no i think that lady

00:43:13 - 00:43:25 | Speaker 2:

is completely ridiculous because one it's not like you were recording and two what's the difference if that person had been in the store shopping with you she still would have she or he still would have seen that person it doesn't make a difference true thank you i i think it's always

00:43:25 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 5:

funny when people like it's so rude to be on the phone at fill in blank here and i'm like but it's not rude if somebody was standing next to me and we were having a conversation exactly yes yes thank you this never goes my way hell yeah you are not the a-hole on this one here although i'm looking

00:43:41 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 1:

at text messages. A couple people texting saying that you would be the a-hole Megan if you were holding the phone. Yeah, we said that. That's a good one. Another one here would be you would be an a-hole if you were on your headphones and couldn't hear her trying to get by you. That would also be probably a-hole. Maybe that's where it's starting. Joanne, what's up?

00:44:02 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning. First time, long time. Hey there, Joanne's on the phone. Oh my god, I waited to hear Kevin say that. Your entire life. My entire life. Hey, Megan, you are not the a-hole. There is no presumption of privacy in a public place. Sorry, Miss Lady, but no. You walked in front of the camera. It's all about Megan today. Hello.

00:44:31 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 1:

Megan needed you there in the store with her.

00:44:34 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I've watched way too many videos. I need to stay offline because no, ma'am. No, ma'am. If you're in a public place, smile and I hope you don't come out looking like you're at Walmart because I might have to post that everywhere.

00:44:53 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

The people of Walmart site. You had to go to. Correct. Yeah. Yes, sir. It's the best. We love you. Thank you.

00:45:00 - 00:45:02 | Speaker 7:

Thanks for calling. Call more often, please. Addie, what's up?

00:45:04 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So we were at a restaurant recently, and there was two girls sitting across from our table. It was extremely distracting when all they did was sit on FaceTime while their friend was at Walmart shopping, and they were talking to them about it. That's all I heard the entire time.

00:45:22 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:45:23 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay, but Addie, what's the difference between that and them just having a conversation?

00:45:27 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 4:

um they can have a conversation but when it's distracting to other people around them they didn't have earbuds in like megan did which is totally okay in my opinion so you're not the a-hole but absolutely distracting when it affects people around you and they're trying to enjoy a meal

00:45:46 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 3:

i want to go to a restaurant that's dead silent just for you no distractions it is weird when

00:45:53 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 7:

people sit at a table and they're on the table watching movies loud or they're talking on facetime loud and you're at there i know it's there's no difference to a volume of people just talking but it is kind of weird when you hear like i i sat at a coney island at lulu's and i saw or there's a guy was listening to music on his thing and he had music just playing in the

00:46:15 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 4:

background and i was like okay this is well when i can see walmart and looking at the shelves at walmart while she's watching the shelves i'm not really interested in seeing walmart when i'm out

00:46:27 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 7:

to eat with my family yeah that's true like if the person's shopping there what's up stuff

00:46:31 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 5:

hey uh megan is not the a-hole these people are already on this woman's on security cameras

00:46:38 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 7:

whole time she's in the store that's right does she know how many cameras that have probably got her that day you know exactly yeah um well thank you for the call this is actually pretty reassuring

00:46:50 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

Megan not one person said that you're the a-hole I feel fueled by what just happened here it's about to go off the rails because I've never had this many people agree with me

00:47:01 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 7:

October 30th 2024 the year of the Lord Megan write it down Sharon what's up Sharon

00:47:07 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 5:

good morning first time long time Sharon's on the phone Sharon what do you think is rude Sharon So getting back to the topic earlier, sorry for not calling in sooner, but with regards to the FaceTiming in public, like I hate it when people are in public bathrooms and FaceTiming and it's just like super rude and on phones and it's just like, why are you doing this? It's the bathroom.

00:47:35 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 7:

I know you're going to the bathroom. Why do people make a duty?

00:47:39 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 3:

That's weird, especially because we all know how big the gaps are in stall doors. That's weird.

00:47:45 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 5:

exactly you know bathroom is supposed to be a sacred place you know for doing your duty and here we go on the facetime like hey how you doing sharon we love you thanks for listening

00:47:54 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 6:

thanks guys have a good one hey bye gabrielle i do it all all the time wait what do you do all the time when i go shopping i'm on the phone because when i go shopping i'm trying to catch a vibe so if i'm shopping i might have the music playing and i have my big headphone but if i lose I'm not going to not catch my vibe Because I don't have my headphones I'm going to play the music, it'll be subtle But it's going to be played And if you're distracted, that's your problem, not mine

00:48:23 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so you're actually the person I was talking about When I was sitting there at the Coney Island And the person's jamming music in their booth

00:48:30 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 6:

Yes, well, but it's not loud It's subtle for me and my party But I literally went on a date With my husband the other day And yes, I played the boondocks on my phone Very small level and we were joking because we were catching a vibe. Okay. And we were watching the boondocks. Alright. Girl, you are crazy. I like the

00:48:50 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 7:

people that catch up on their watching you know, whatever shows or movies while they're walking around a store. Like, how are you able to contact?

00:48:58 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 6:

I don't get it. Because it is a vibe. It's a vibe.

00:49:02 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 7:

Alright. Shannon with What's Trending this hour and then the Taylor Swift contest coming up. Will we get a winner for Taylor and Indy?

00:49:13 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 1:

Nichelle back on the phone. She was so funny. She is so sick and tired of this contest. Shout out to you, Nichelle.

00:49:21 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 7:

And who is it? Dawn. Good luck to Dawn trying to get through.

00:49:24 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

This is the story of the morning Detroit Lions wide receiver, Jameson Williams. JMO, who was suspended earlier this month for two games, remember after violating the NFL's performance enhancing substance policy, was almost arrested back on October 8th for carrying a concealed weapon why he wasn't is now the subject of a detroit police internal affairs investigation so on that date detroit police pulled over a vehicle for speeding and the driver was jamo's brother jamo was in the front passenger seat and when questioned by the officer jamo's brother said there

00:50:00 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 6:

are two guns in the car. The first one's in the backseat. The second was under J-Mo's seat.

00:50:05 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 5:

Before you start returning, any weapons in the vehicle? Yeah. Yeah, do you have a CPL order? Yeah. Okay, where's your CPL at? All right. Any other weapons in the vehicle besides that one? Yeah, I got another one. You got another one? Where's that one at? You don't got to reach for it. It's over there with that one. What's a problem? I'm going to take you out, okay? What? You're going to start procuring a concealed weapon, and I'm just explaining it to you so I can be transparent but you want to do it okay

00:50:29 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 6:

so that audio courtesy of wxyz channel 7 in detroit put the officer and you heard him was like okay so the gun is registered to you but you don't have a cpl and that is a problem so i have to take you to jail i have to arrest you and take you to jail that's just our policy well jmo wasn't taken to jail instead a supervisor was called to that scene and that supervisor that sergeant was a huge lions fan you could tell that from his phone lock screen that was the lions logo and he knew exactly who jmo was and he was like we uh-oh this is not good what's his name so that was a much condensed version of what actually happened that sergeant that was brought The big Lions fan took about 30 minutes to make a bunch of calls, finally called a lieutenant who said, yes, J-Mo should be released from custody. Now, we're not hearing that lieutenant side of the conversation in that body cam footage that you just played.

00:51:58 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you or read to you some of the comments that are on WXYZ Channel 7 in Detroit? This Ross Jones guy, by the way, might need to get a job in Cleveland after this thing. These are some of the text messages. I cannot believe a local news outlet would try to do this to one of our Lions players. This is the unthinkable. You're ruining our season. Another one here that says, definitely, I think the reporter should be fired for this. He's not a Lions fan, and he's trying to screw the Lions this year. Another one here that says, I really don't get how you guys are running a story like this, saying that guns were found. He actually admitted that there was a gun in the car, told the police officer right off the bat. Reporting this story is only trying to screw the Lions. And then another person wrote right afterwards and says, yeah, this happened just before the Dallas game. Should we investigate why this reporter actually is doing it now when it was weeks ago? Thank God this police officer didn't arrest Jamo. He caught two touchdowns in that game.

00:52:56 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 4:

That parlay hit.

00:52:56 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but here's the thing. News doesn't publish this, right? Does he get away with it?

00:53:02 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think that it's a done deal. I think that, yeah, it's off. and I do think this happens a lot I think that there's a lot of times where other celebrity high profile high profile get off I think that honestly other cops get you know if you know a cop get off but I also I think that there's a situation here where I get that there was a wrongdoing in this whole deal but it's the Lions I don't

00:53:26 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 4:

care let it go bro we trying to get a Super Bowl he ain't kill nobody ain't nobody's on the

00:53:32 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 3:

gun hopefully i mean he he was pulled over for obviously a traffic violation that's he he did the appropriate of saying we have a gun in the car he wasn't even driving yeah yeah but everybody

00:53:45 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 2:

knows those gun laws are so strict like just either carry it the proper way in your car where you won't get in trouble for this put it in case have it unloaded have it in the trunk whatever

00:53:55 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 4:

or get your license so so so what are we looking at right now are we like what's next jmos there's

00:54:02 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 6:

An investigation within the police department.

00:54:05 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think the cops are in trouble, bigger than even JMO. But I think JMO is also in trouble. The league might come into play with this, too. So I think that there's an issue with that. He's already suspended now for, you know, two games. He's got one more game of that suspension. And I think Channel 7 just got worse ratings than they already have right now. I think that there's going to be a lot of people that are upset with Channel 7 about the deal.

00:54:25 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 6:

All right. Another dirty today. President Joe Biden referred to Donald Trump supporters as, quote-unquote, garbage during a campaign call last night.

00:54:34 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 1:

For Puerto Rico, where I'm in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization is seen as unconscionable, and it's un-American.

00:54:48 - 00:54:51 | Speaker 6:

Former President Donald Trump responding to that comment.

00:54:52 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Remember Hillary, she said deplorable, and then she said irredeemable. Right. But she said deplorable. That didn't work out garbage.

00:55:00 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 2:

which I think is worse, right? But he doesn't know. You have to please forgive him. Please forgive him,

00:55:06 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 3:

for he not knoweth what he said. Ah, you better quote the Bible. Oh, wow. I mean, to be clear, he's not talking about all Trump supporters. He's talking about the guy who was at the rally at Madison Square Garden who made those comments.

00:55:19 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 4:

A White House spokesman said that.

00:55:20 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 2:

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who's the guy that's always on those roasts. It's interesting. The White House spokesperson said, Let me show you what President Biden had written down, which means his comments, they said, were scripted because it seemed like he was coming off the cuff.

00:55:37 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know. Yesterday, I had to shake my head and not in a good way when I saw that there was going to be a posthumous, I cannot say that word, but Liam Payne song released this week following his unexpected and very tragic death. If you heard that, I know there were lots of thoughts about it, but it has been postponed from what I know. Sam Pounds, who duets with Liam on the song, said he decided to hold the song, it's called Do No Wrong, and leave the decision up to Liam's family, who I don't believe want this song released, but he said he wants the proceeds to go to a charity of their choosing. And a side note, while we're talking about this, I'm hearing that Liam's fatal fall from that third floor balcony in Buenos Aires was captured on security video, like CCTV. Maybe an Argentinian broadcast journalist said you can tell from the video, which is part of the case file, that he did not jump deliberately. And lastly, while performing at Red Rocks in Colorado for his four friends and family tour, Shawn Mendes got honest with the audience about his sexuality. Long rumored saying it's just hard to put into boxes.

00:56:45 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 1:

The real truth about my life and my sexuality is that, man, I'm just I'm just figuring it out. like everyone i don't really know sometimes and i know other times he then played his new song

00:56:58 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 4:

called the mountain where he sings you can say i'm too young you can say i'm too old you can say i like girls or boys whatever fits your mold his fifth studio album sean drops on november 15th

00:57:08 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 2:

real quick an update on the uh the story about jamo uh buddy of mine who works uh with the prosecutor's office said that a warrant has been issued right now oh damn that a warrant has been issued right now for possibly an arrest for Jameson

00:57:26 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 3:

Williams. Come on, we can't win.

00:57:29 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 2:

So, I don't know what that does.

00:57:30 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 3:

Did you see his Halloween costume at the

00:57:32 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 2:

Lions party? What was his Halloween costume? He was in an orange jumpsuit. No. I'm dead ass. Really? Oh, geez.

00:57:40 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 4:

Alright, for all of today's attorney, you can catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app from MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:57:50 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. I always love when you can talk a little relationship stuff this early in the morning. We always talk about our situations that are going on. We talk about yours. We do War of the Roses. We do Second Date Update that's coming up here in just a little bit. Kev is going to talk about, and this is the topic here right now, how did they try to come back? How did the ex try to come back?

00:58:19 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 3:

what's the story yeah man so uh the homies in the group chat i got some pretty amazing friends good people hilarious so one of the homies put in the group check guess who just hit me up guess who trying to spin the block type of thing and some people put like the big eyes emoji in there like who like question he sends a picture of it and it's his ex they've been out of a relationship for i want to say like a maybe a little over a year maybe a little under a year somewhere around a year he just got a new job and he posted on his social media it's something that he's been going to school for he's been working pretty hard at and instead of commenting on the photo she sends him a text message like i'm so proud of you congratulations obviously she trying to spin the block and i feel like there are certain messages there are certain quotes there are certain things that exes do that is not just a you're not trying to say you proud of me and congratulations for this job like you're trying to you're trying to get back in spin the block and circle back right yes you're trying to circle back around you're trying to come back around the the son one more time to be a part of me happy birthday text right the hey big head like I don't care that you're older I just want to bang you

00:59:39 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 2:

exactly are you guys saying that an ex can't be happy for him for getting a new job Or happy that you have a birthday. No. They're only doing it for alternative, you know, for evil purposes. Yes.

00:59:51 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, if, how long has it been since we talked to this ex?

00:59:55 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 2:

Um, I don't know, to be honest with you, but they didn't end up a great year.

00:59:58 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 4:

If it's coming out of the blue, 100%. Yes. 100%. It's one of those type of things.

01:00:02 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so here's the thing. What was it that your significant other did to try to, what did you call it? I love that.

01:00:08 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 4:

Spin the block.

01:00:09 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 3:

What was it that your significant other did, like your ex did, to try to spin the block or circle back or try to get back in your life, get a booty call, maybe get in the relationship again? Do you think that, did they break up because of, she wanted the breakup or he wanted the breakup?

01:00:26 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 4:

I think it was a mutual thing, but it wasn't on the greatest of terms.

01:00:34 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 3:

We'll say that. All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. A new job seems like that would be a time to come back into somebody's life. Now they finally got themselves a good job.

01:00:46 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 4:

He done leveled up. He's got benefits. You know what I'm saying? He posted on the ground. She could have just commented and said, good job. You don't text him and say, I'm proud of you. You know exactly what you're trying to do.

01:00:56 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 1:

And that's the move. Because don't you think if she was truly, well.

01:00:59 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, if she puts it on his page and does it, then it looks visually to everybody like she's trying to do that. She just was trying to do it between the two of them. No, she wasn't. She was trying to get back in. I think you're reading too much into this.

01:01:13 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 4:

By saying I'm proud, no. I'm proud of you. She's still proud. I don't think they talk like that. So it's random. That's why he said, guess who hit me back? Guess who hit me? Because it's not like they talk like that.

01:01:23 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:01:24 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 4:

And why would you send it? You could have just double tapped, or you could have just commented, but to say, I'm proud of you, that's, come on, bro, like, you're trying to, we not like that no more. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's not, we not like that.

01:01:37 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 3:

We not like that. I like that when you do that with your voice. We not like that anymore. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Do you have a lot of exes that try to come back into your life, KP, because you brought the birthday thing up on your birthday? Do you ever, do you have that?

01:01:55 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 1:

where the guys will wish you a happy birthday i think everybody knows that if you haven't talked to someone in a long time and all of a sudden you're saying happy birthday it's because you want to find a way to talk to them again it's like it's like merry christmas happy hanukkah what am i going to say that's not weird is bait but you know is general enough to get get a pass

01:02:14 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 3:

uh what's going on how you doing megan listener megan

01:02:17 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 5:

hi hi so so i went to school and me and my boyfriend broke up like right before i went off to college and he called me right like called me like two months into school and was like oh how was college joe going like i'm looking for going to that school and that was kind of his way to try to like we go back into my life and did you let him in no yeah there you go locking key

01:02:50 - 01:02:58 | Speaker 2:

that door is shut shane what's up what's up i'm with kevin she's just trying to get back in in a

01:02:58 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 3:

sweet way everybody guy knows what that means come on have you ever had a girl try to do this with you uh shane at least three times in my life and where what is it usually around is it around

01:03:09 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 2:

something nice happening celebratory happening yeah like kevin said birthday new job or just

01:03:17 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 3:

seeing you out living good life and they just went back in i have i've had exes of like my kids that have actually sent me notes on my birthday and said and by the way say hi to which has

01:03:31 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 1:

actually been kind of interesting i feel like that's just trying to be polite and break the ice and not be awkward.

01:03:36 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 4:

No, don't say and say hi, too. Just tell me happy birthday. You know what I mean? You don't need to pass messages to my kids.

01:03:44 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 3:

I've actually had buddies' exes, too, do the same thing, too. I had one buddy that used to have a lot of exes, and I used to have his girls all the time. They would say, hey, how are you doing? How's everybody? How's Chelsea? And then they'd say, how's so-and-so? And I'm like, okay, now I know why the other ones got asked. What's up, Gia?

01:04:02 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 6:

Hey. hey, I actually have exes that have come back to me because they got a promotion. So they will use the promotion as a reason to reach back out and say, hey, guess what? I'm a partner at my firm. Guess what? I got this new job. Like, what's up? Let me take you out and celebrate with me. And they just really want to get back together.

01:04:21 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but what if, did you ever break up because they didn't have their crap together? Because if that was, like, the issue, couldn't you be like, oh, I fixed it?

01:04:30 - 01:04:41 | Speaker 6:

no not at all i actually i mean generally they're successful men i think they're just egotistical and i think that's a way to get back together i don't know well then you know what i

01:04:41 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

say to that yeah i'd rather have them do it when they have a job than do it when they lost their job you know what i mean hey i need some help right kelly hi hi good morning guys how are you By the way, this is cold. Listen to what Kelly's axe did. What happened?

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 7:

My ex showed up at my father's funeral.

01:05:03 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 3:

How long had you been exes for? Oh, my God, like 15 years.

01:05:08 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

But was he just wanted to pay his respects?

01:05:10 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 3:

I know. That one kind of makes me go, wait, I don't know.

01:05:13 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 7:

Well, that's what I thought initially. I thought how kind it was. I married. My husband was there. But then when we were in the, you know, how people come up and give their respects and talk to the family, it shocked me that he was in line. but then when he hugged me he held on to me really tight and it was a little odd but i was like grieving so i didn't care but then a few weeks after the funeral he then reached out to me on social media and then was flirting wow it was very odd and weird and i was just like

01:05:45 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 2:

okay this gives me the major cringe wow that's amazing uh carrie hi hi tell everybody where you had an ex hit you up uh to try to as kev as kev said and i like this it's gonna be a new you're gonna hear me say a new term here right now i'm gonna sound cool

01:06:03 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 6:

spin the block go ahead my ex hit me up on linkedin

01:06:09 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 4:

did you have him blocked everywhere else and that's why he chose linkedin

01:06:16 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 6:

no i didn't like we weren't friends on facebook or anything or like instagram but like for some reason like i saw that he searched me on linkedin and the next day like he messaged me like hey how are you doing like congratulations and i didn't even have like a new job he was just like there

01:06:30 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 4:

yeah that's you got to be careful with linkedin because you can see everybody who use your profile she paid for that unless you pay for the premium

01:06:36 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 2:

bria what's up it's mojo in the morning

01:06:39 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 9:

hi oh my gosh first time long yes i was calling to say my ex hit me up because he said he needed help finding an apartment and it actually worked out i helped him find the apartment and we're still together it's been four years now oh a successful spin that's good i like it and you got the good apartment too that's nice yes and now we're actually in the process of buying a house maybe your friend needs to spend the block maybe you should accept it there you go uh initial

01:07:17 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 1:

l wants to be voice disguised hi hi hi um okay first off uh first time a long time yes yes L's on the phone. So I just actually broke off my engagement last week. And my ex-fiance actually just tried to hit me up the other day when I said I needed space. And so ever since he hit me up, it's been really hard to not actually, you know, contact him back. But I know he needs that space. He had a lot of issues that he needed to solve on his own. And I couldn't be there to fix him anymore. So it's been a little crazy, to be honest. His mom's been even texting me and is like asking me all these questions for therapy for him. And I'm like, he's not my issue anymore. I can't do this for you all the time.

01:08:12 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Wow, and it's so fresh. Yeah, that is good. You're strong. Stay strong, okay?

01:08:17 - 01:08:18 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:08:18 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Listen to Chelsea's. This is a good one here. We're talking about the ex circling back in your life when something big happens for you. No, no. Say it the right way. Circling the block. Spinning. Something big. Spinning. What's going on, Chelsea?

01:08:33 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 10:

Good morning. So me and my ex broke up, and I blocked him on all the things, you know, typical trying to erase. And I received a Venmo of $1 and a message, and it was from him circling back.

01:08:49 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 8:

What did the message say?

01:08:51 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 10:

it was i like miss you uh hope to see you soon or something he can't even get lunch with a dollar he came back in one dollar but like that's what i'm worth one dollar but linkedin and venmo you'd

01:09:07 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 2:

never think that you'd try to go back into somebody's life that way but is there a number

01:09:11 - 01:09:19 | Speaker 3:

that if he would have said you would have thought oh i'll unblock you come on everybody's got price Come on. Be honest. Oh, man.

01:09:19 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 2:

Tell him that you're a high-priced hooker. He does not want to. Oh, no.

01:09:23 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 4:

Because I'm not going to lie. If you send me $100, I'll unblock you. I'll engage in a few texts. I'll block you again. See if you do it again. Send me another $100.

01:09:30 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 2:

You could profit. Jackie's got a wild one. Jackie went through a major, major change in her life. What was that change, Jackie?

01:09:39 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

I had gastric bypass, and I had lost over 140 pounds, and I had two of my exes fly back into my DM talking about, oh wow, you look really nice. You look so pretty. And one of them asked me, how did you lose the weight? Isn't that infuriating though?

01:10:00 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that infuriating?

01:10:13 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 1:

That's right. You know what you should have told them? Jackie, what you should have said was give them how much they weigh and say, I lost that weight a long time ago, which made me feel so much better.

01:10:32 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 3:

I know that's right. I know how to actually gain weight. So it's like the weight I lost, it's better at the game. I love it. I love you. I love you.

01:10:45 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 1:

And last one, Sonia, I'm going to use the last one of this one because this is a great topic. We're talking about how the ex kind of came back into your life. What did the ex do?

01:10:56 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, first of all, good morning, Mojo. and first time, long time. Yeah! Sign is on the phone! Okay, so I don't know if you guys know of this app. It's called Let Go. It's where you can sell your things after, you know, your gently used items or whatever. Well, I had this ex and I blocked him on everything and I got a message on Let Go. Like, dude, out of all the apps. That is random.

01:11:22 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 1:

Did he at least buy something from you or try to?

01:11:26 - 01:11:28 | Speaker 4:

No, he just commented under a pair of shoes

01:11:28 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 1:

01:14:49 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

we'll get some information for you okay all right thank you all right mojo in the morning i can't believe that it's that time of year again it's that time of year where the kids

01:15:00 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 3:

getting ready for their big halloween parties i know a lot of times the kids in school always have like their they won't call it halloween they'll call it fall festival or harvest festival i love

01:15:13 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 2:

it i know i was happy to see that it is why is that like why do you try to switch up the words

01:15:19 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 3:

because of you that they got people that complain probably i don't know or something you know But here's the thing When you're a parent of a kid That is as bad as my kids were And definitely as bad as Shannon's kids are Wait, what? Where they have these ideas of costumes That they want to wear to school That may not be as appropriate for school As they are for the neighborhood Every kid has to have two costumes The costume that they wear That makes you look like the good mom and dad and then the costume that makes you guys look like your kids watch really bad movies. I would like to call out the parents right now that were willing to call us up or maybe have your kid call us up. What are their in-school costumes this year and what are their going around the neighborhood trick-or-treating? I look like I'm a murderer

01:16:12 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 2:

costume. Yeah, because you're not allowed to have like scary masks, props. They don't make it fun. You know, those sorts of things in school.

01:16:20 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 3:

Guys, I know I'm older than you guys, all right? I'm 54 years old. You guys, you know. Okay. You guys are little children.

01:16:26 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what was that Kevin Hart thing he did?

01:16:28 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 3:

Damn. Damn, damn, damn.

01:16:30 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

01:16:31 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 3:

No, no, wait, hold on. What is the... Is that cheating? No, here you go. Dan Campbell. It's Dan Campbell. Holy crap. We need to use that more on the show, by the way. So, when I was a kid, I mean, we pretty much could bring all of our stuff to school. Like, I could be Batman with all the Batman stuff. I had the utility belt with everything on it and then guys like Sam Bernstein screwed it up for everybody or it was Karen Mom Mom Karen probably did it too but somebody did something somebody either sued or somebody ever complained and now you can't do it but it's so funny when your kid says to you I want to be and my kids always were the most evil costumes I remember with Luke I'd be like, Luke, don't you want to be like a police officer? He's like, Dad, I don't want to be a police officer. I don't want to be a firefighter, you know? I want to be, you know, I want to be, you know, the Grim Reaper or something like that.

01:17:30 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 2:

With blood coming out of my nose and eyes. Exactly.

01:17:33 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 3:

That costume went triple platinum. The scream mask, the ghost face, where you could squeeze it and it had blood that came through.

01:17:40 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. See, our school says, like, you're allowed to do masks, but they can't be excessively scary or represent violent characters and they can't have like blood or gore.

01:17:49 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 3:

That's Halloween. On them. All right, 844-MOJO-LIFE, 844-665-6548. I want you to call us up and I want you to tell us what are the two costumes. Tell us the in-school costume and then tell us the real costume that they're going to be. Like what is the costume that they're going to be when they're out on the streets?

01:18:07 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 2:

For once, my children only have one costume each. What? I think this might be the first year. Although I told Smith, Smith has one of those blow-up costumes. and I'm like how long is this going to last when you're running trick or treating I have a feeling this is coming off after like five houses

01:18:20 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 3:

wait what has changed them from the past of

01:18:24 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 2:

I don't know I'm very happy about it and they also haven't changed their mind so like we've had these costumes for three weeks to a month maybe and there haven't been any changes so yeah

01:18:37 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 3:

by the way everybody's texting in and they're calling in with different ones Haktua must be on every single kid's mind because there's all these... How do they know about that? How? They listen to the show. How do you dress up like Haktua? Hey, Mojo. Hi, how are you?

01:18:55 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 1:

Good, how are you? I wanted to comment on the costume. Tomorrow's my kid's costume party and parade and I'm not sure what his school costume's going to be but I handmade Edward Scissorhands and I mean, we had Trunk or Treat on Monday. I'd like to send a picture if I could if you guys could see it. So he can't be Edward Scissorhands at school?

01:19:17 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 3:

Why, they're afraid he's going to cut somebody?

01:19:19 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:19:20 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I'm going to attempt it. I think I'm just going to go ahead and send him tomorrow. I'm going to see how it goes.

01:19:25 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 3:

Nah, nah. You don't want him to get kicked out or not be able to go in.

01:19:29 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 1:

I don't think he'll get kicked out. Yeah. He might be Spider-Man. Who knows? But he, I mean, he's just, you guys have to see the costume. Everybody was taking pictures of him.

01:19:37 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 3:

I can't wait. I want to see it. Send it in. I would love to see it. Nikki, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:19:44 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you? First time, long time? Hey there, Nikki.

01:19:46 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Nikki on the phone.

01:19:49 - 01:19:53 | Speaker 3:

Nikki, what are the two costumes? What's his in-school costume?

01:19:54 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

The in-school costumes, I have twins. They're going as knuckles and tails. Iron.

01:20:00 - 01:20:16 | Speaker 3:

And what are their costumes? They're going to be trick-or-treating around the neighborhood, scaring the neighbors. Deadpool and Wolverine. I mean, it's Deadpool. Yeah, that's fun. That's fun. Especially with twins. That's a great costume. Let them have fun. Come on.

01:20:16 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 2:

They are. I know. I'm so excited for their Halloween costumes. They're going to look awesome.

01:20:23 - 01:20:31 | Speaker 3:

Somebody said, this is crazy. Somebody said, Mojo, I went to school around the same time as you did. I went to school as the Unabomber. They kicked me out of school at that time. Boy.

01:20:32 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 2:

There's a line. There is a line.

01:20:34 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 3:

There's a line.

01:20:35 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 2:

That's crossing it.

01:20:36 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 3:

So I guess even back then they did stuff like that. I'm born in Chicago. Oh, here you go. Mojo, I'm your same age. I went to school as a pregnant nun. They sent me home. I guess we did have like a little summer. Could you imagine showing up at school as a pregnant nun, walking up to the nun that you go to school? You get yourself into trouble. I am afraid of no ghost. By the way, did you see there's a story that says that, and this is a story that came out from Spotify that said that Halloween is the second most lucrative time of the year for artists to have songs played. And they said that more artists now are talking about doing songs, Halloween-y songs. I guess the weekend now is on this whole thing where he's doing some Halloween songs.

01:21:24 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 2:

Didn't they say the guy who did the Monster Mash made like a bajillion dollars? that song. When was the last time we even knew one? Rihanna's Disturbia?

01:21:33 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 3:

I think The Weeknd has one this year, but I don't think it's as good. And then a lot of people will play Is it Blinding Light? They'll play that one. What's going on, Jennifer? Hi. Hi, Jennifer.

01:21:44 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 2:

What's up? I texted my son's friend for trick-or-treating is going to be a

01:21:50 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be. I'm sorry. Say that again. Your phone cut off. Your friends, they're going trick-or-treating around the neighborhood dressed like what?

01:21:57 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 2:

A breathalyzer? How old are they? And my son is I don't know what he's going to be for school But my son for school is going to be a blow up T-Rex And then for trick or treating He's going to be a purge character With a baseball bat Now he's talking

01:22:22 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 3:

I like the breathalyzer Why can you not do the breathalyzer at school?

01:22:26 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 2:

That's so inappropriate Why is that inappropriate? No. That's great.

01:22:31 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 3:

How is that inappropriate? With a sign that says don't drink and drive.

01:22:33 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 2:

It has to do with alcohol.

01:22:34 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

01:22:35 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm thinking about uterine. The alcohol is by his no-no. Kev's thinking an inhaler.

01:22:41 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm thinking an inhaler. I'm like, what's wrong with that? It saves lives. Great, real quick. Real quick. So pretty. Say that again. These guys were laughing at Kev's comment. Where's the blow-up part where you have to blow into?

01:22:55 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 2:

It's by his no-no square. Oh, yeah. You can't do that. You are letting him. What grade is he in? He's in eighth grade. Oh, my God. Miss ma'am. Miss ma'am. Why did you buy that? That's like college at the earliest. I try very hard not to judge other moms, but I might be judging you. Ma'am.

01:23:16 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 3:

You are the mom of the year. Congratulations. I know what I'm going to be for next year. Oh, my God. Thank you for the call.

01:23:24 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 2:

Have a good morning.

01:23:26 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update.

01:23:28 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 3:

All right, time now for second date update. If you are not getting a call back from somebody that you have gone out on a date with, text DATE to 95500 and we will get you on the show. Mojo in the morning show. So here's the deal. We're trying to figure out why Joey is not getting a call back. Joey? Good morning. Good morning. So how did you guys meet, Joey?

01:23:58 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 1:

uh we met um we went on a date we went on a date together we got drinks okay um it was really good vibes were really high um yeah and and i yeah it was a good date and i just i i assumed there was going to be a second one but she just has not answered me so um were you guys talking for a while before you guys had gone out uh you know not like too long just like a like you know like a week you know you've matched on on an app and then you talk for a week or so and then you go out and usually it's either good or bad and if it's good i imagine you get answered at least

01:24:37 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 3:

so were you not getting answered right away so it must not have been good to her

01:24:40 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 1:

um it was not right away that she didn't answer me i we were texting for a little bit and then

01:24:47 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

okay just dropped and i was like and because then it wasn't necessarily what happened on the date Maybe it's just that she got busy with stuff We'll find out what's going on Because I always say that if you get blown off right away

01:25:00 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 1:

they're not interested. They either didn't like what they saw or didn't like what they did or we'll figure it out. On the phone with us right now is Andrea. Andrea, are you cool with talking to Joey right now? Sure. Will you say hello to him?

01:25:19 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

01:25:21 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Andrea. Hey, Andrea, Joey was talking to us about how you guys matched and then went out and now you're not talking to him what's going on what's the story

01:25:33 - 01:25:47 | Speaker 5:

well i i did talk to him i texted him you texted him that you didn't want another date or didn't

01:25:47 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 1:

want to talk or you were busy or what did you text because he said that you've gone dark on him

01:25:50 - 01:26:00 | Speaker 5:

uh i mean i i did message him so a little bit i think okay well talk to us about

01:26:00 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 1:

what you messaged him what did you message him

01:26:02 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 4:

um i don't really remember you don't remember can you can you go back and joey what did she message

01:26:13 - 01:26:50 | Speaker 2:

you well she was just um she she she you know she just sort of just fell up it was good conversation and you know we were just talking like normal uh i was talking about like maybe going on a second date um and then one day she just you know didn't didn't answer me and i was i just assumed that i was getting ghosted you know which kind of things because we were having we had a great time and i I thought the vibe was really good, so I figured there might have been a reason, so I'm trying to find out why you might not have answered me.

01:26:50 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 4:

So something happened after the date, I take it.

01:26:56 - 01:26:58 | Speaker 2:

That's what I think. Is that the case, Andrea?

01:26:58 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 4:

Because if you're texting him right after the date, but then all of a sudden stop, what happened there?

01:27:07 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Um, so I was at the gym and, um, I was in the sauna and I was telling one of my friends about him and I showed her his picture and she recognized him. Um, she said that he's married to her second cousin. What?

01:27:34 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 1:

Are you married, Joey?

01:27:39 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 2:

I am not. I am not married. I am adamantly not. I mean, technically, yes, but I'm separated. I'm not married. First of all, I honestly don't think your friend has any business saying all that to you about me, but I'm not married.

01:27:56 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 1:

Her friend knows, obviously, that you're a married guy. You're a married guy?

01:28:03 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes, I mean, like, I am, like, on paper married, but I am in the process of moving out. I'm not, like, I'm not in a relationship with anyone. If I was, I wouldn't be going on dates, you know? You still live with her, though. I'm in the process of moving out.

01:28:19 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 1:

You guys, are you guys divorcing, or what are you doing?

01:28:23 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 2:

That is the intention, yes. I mean, I'm sure you can understand it's more complicated.

01:28:30 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, man. I get why she wanted to walk away from the situation. Yep.

01:28:35 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 1:

Did you talk about, or let me ask Andrea. Andrea, did he talk about that he was married?

01:28:43 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 5:

No. This was a complete shock to me.

01:28:47 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 1:

Did he talk at all about his life and what his life was and where he lived and who he lives with?

01:28:53 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 5:

No. I mean, it was just a first date. Do we have to?

01:28:59 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 1:

Is that something you got to disclose? Well, I think if you're a married guy and you're still living with your ex, I would assume that you would sit there and say, yeah, I'm kind of going through this right now and say something. Just like if you just went through a divorce or a big breakup, I think people want to know what stories. I mean, I think when you're on a first date, you don't talk about what your life is all about. You don't talk about what's going on.

01:29:20 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 3:

Not the marriage stuff. Here's the thing. I was totally on his side. I have seen so many divorces take years and I think people move on and they're ready for the next step in their life, whatever. But as soon as this guy said, I'm in the process of moving out, I said, nope, I don't have your back too soon. You cannot, you can't do that.

01:29:44 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

See, and I think that this is something that you talk about on a first date because I think that that's a bit of information that's really important. and I like that's also a question that I would ask right away like have you ever been married before have you like do you have kids like those are all

01:30:00 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 2:

important bits of information to me so i think that that was definitely something that you should have shared and by the way like it could have cleared up this whole conversation and situation by you saying i'm in the process of divorce it's taking forever you know here's i don't think you have to give all the dirty details but i do think because then then this happens and people are like

01:30:20 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 4:

oh wait he's married dude but if she doesn't ask and by him just voluntarily giving that information it can cause for some extreme problems. Which it did. But if he's at a point where he's definitely over his on-paper wife and he's ready to move on, then it's going to prevent him from having the ability to move on by telling him he's married and he's never going to be happy.

01:30:43 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 2:

But I don't know that he is. We have the intention of divorcing. I'm in the process of moving out. True.

01:30:51 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Andrea, does this make you not want to go out with him again, even if you found out that the wife was completely out of the picture and it was just they were roommates?

01:31:02 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 5:

It just seems really complicated.

01:31:05 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 3:

And you just don't want to get involved in the messiness of what's going on right now? Yeah.

01:31:10 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 5:

It just doesn't seem like a lot of fun. I'm sorry. I didn't want to make a big deal

01:31:14 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 3:

out of this. Angie wants to make a comment. What's up, Angie?

01:31:18 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 8:

Hi. Good morning.

01:31:20 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

Morning. What's going on? Second date update. I'm not really sure

01:31:22 - 01:31:26 | Speaker 8:

why this guy would want to bring his drama into an innocent

01:31:26 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 3:

witness of what's going on right now oh turn your radio down please whoever's got the radio up

01:31:32 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 9:

got it

01:31:34 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 3:

okay is that Angie or is that Joey or Andrea that did that Angie turn your radio down Angie so you don't you don't know why he would bring want to bring somebody else into the complication maybe he needs a little time to himself before he starts dating

01:31:51 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 8:

yeah you don't bring an innocent person into a party when you haven't cleaned out your old baggage don't bring in yeah don't bring

01:32:00 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 9:

bad into new good point uh tina what's up that mojo that would have been a deal breaker for me because you're technically still in the house with your wife don't put me in the middle of your shenanigans yep once you leave the marriage then we could think about don't talking or whatever but he was a hundred percent wrong he should have told her and let her decide if she

01:32:31 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 3:

wanted to deal with him or not so he should have brought this up while they were on their very

01:32:35 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 9:

first date so she had a way to make yes because let me tell you something people are crazy and just say for instance the wife is not feeling what he's feeling and we'll see what it popped up on them on their date and acted back crazy on this woman and this woman had no idea of what

01:32:56 - 01:33:08 | Speaker 4:

the freaking was going on yeah i get it no that's a good point does he bring it up while they're talking on the app or does he wait to the date no the app because all i'm hearing is he should have said it on a date but we're not even we're not even talking about the fact they were talking

01:33:08 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 3:

to the date i think andrea you probably think before the date too right you think he should

01:33:12 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 5:

have said something to you while you guys were just texting i just don't think he should be dating if he's still living with his wife that's a good point lynn what's up lynn what do you think

01:33:23 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 6:

i 100 agree with her he should not be one trying to date while he's still in the process of moving out it's like you can't be alone for two seconds that's a big red flag in and of itself it's like take the time to figure your crap out heal from it and then you can enter into a new relationship and ship in a healthier place.

01:33:45 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 3:

See, that's an evolved woman talking. Everybody ain't that evolved, though. Marissa, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Are you an evolved woman, Marissa?

01:33:54 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, Mojo. How are you?

01:33:56 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic. Second date update.

01:33:59 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so I'm listening right now, and I actually married the married-separated guy.

01:34:05 - 01:34:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez. So you weren't so involved, were you?

01:34:09 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 7:

After ghosting him For a month And he was very persistent And we ended up going on another date He didn't end up getting divorced And we have been married now For six and a half years

01:34:23 - 01:34:25 | Speaker 3:

What advice are you going to give Andrea right now?

01:34:26 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 7:

Maybe give him a second chance I mean he was married They were separated They were living together And I trusted him And it worked out We're actually due with our second baby in a month

01:34:38 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 2:

Marissa, when did he tell you that that was his situation?

01:34:43 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 7:

So I knew he was married.

01:34:45 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:34:46 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 7:

See, that's a big difference.

01:34:47 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 2:

Like, you got to make that decision before you decided to go out with him.

01:34:51 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 7:

That's true, yeah. I think he definitely should have been up front about that. Maybe he was worried it would have ended in her not talking to him.

01:35:00 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 1:

Because I did ghost my now husband for a month when I just wasn't feeling good about it. You know, you're like, I have morals. This seems wrong.

01:35:09 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 3:

So maybe, Andrea, give it a little bit of time before you throw it completely away unless you don't really feel it at all.

01:35:17 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I guess. I just, I don't know. He's being like really defensive about it, too.

01:35:27 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 3:

Hey, you guys will at least have common friends. the person that was in the sauna with you or wherever you were by the way how do you just sit there and start showing you guys should go was it a sauna that you were in yeah just showing pictures let me show you the guy I went out with oh my god that's my cousin's husband I would have been like I'm out of the sauna this place is getting hotter

01:35:50 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 4:

this is the home of the dirty of the 30 throwback throwdown second date update this is Mojo in the Morning Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

01:36:02 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 3:

Will we have a Taylor Swift Winner See Taylor and Indy We'll find out after the Dirty Shannon what's going on what's trending

01:36:11 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Well Channing Tatum Zoe Kravitz have called off their engagement They are splitting after three Years together got engaged Right around this time No really when I saw that pop up That was me She's not been wearing An engagement ring so everybody kind of knew something was up. I don't know when or why they broke up, by the way. Metro Boomin is in some major trouble today. He is facing a new lawsuit from a woman who says he allegedly raped her in 2016. Her name is Vanessa La Maestra. She claims that she was suffering from depression after the death of her infant son at the time, but hit it off with Metro during a trip to Vegas. And Vanessa said, eventually Metro invited her back to his studio in LA, where she says she observed him abusing codeine. Fast forward a couple of months, they stayed in contact. Vanessa says she visited Metro at his studio, took half of a Xanax and a shot of alcohol because she was just kind of like in her emotions about her baby. That was heavy on her mind. She then blacked out on the couch in his studio. Vanessa said she eventually regained consciousness. She was in a bed at that point, Metro on top of her, allegedly raping her. I'll leave out all of the details. After blacking out and waking up again, Vanessa says Metro appeared and informed her that she was inside of a hotel room in Beverly Hills. It was time to leave. She said she had no memory of how she got there in the first place. She later learned she was pregnant and said it had to be Metro's baby because she had not had sex with anybody else. She ultimately terminated that pregnancy. But to make matters worse, Vanessa also believes that Metro joked about her trauma the following year on his Rap Saved Me record, co-starring 21 Savage and Offset. I think Quavo was on that as well. And it includes the lyrics, she took a zanny, then she fainted. I don't think I can say the rest of the lyrics, those are pretty bad. But, yeah, so she's suing for all sorts of things, but rape being that big charge there. How did she prove that now? I don't know.

01:38:18 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 3:

my SVU brain I think about like a rape kit I'm trying to like identify like how does she get justice if it happened I don't know

01:38:26 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 2:

50 Cent telling Charlamagne the God on The Breakfast Club yesterday and DJ Envy as part of that interview said that he was offered 3 million dollars to perform at Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally over the weekend but he declined for a reason

01:38:43 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 4:

they wanted you to perform many men they wanted you to perform many men at the RNC too right yeah Yeah, and they offered me $3 million. To perform? At $3 million. And then they offered you money for the Republican National Convention too, right? He turned it down? I'm afraid of politics, bro. So you understand. I do not like... You don't like gangbang of politics. No gangbang of politics. No gangbang of politics.

01:39:03 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 2:

He said, I stay away from religion, and I stay away from politics.

01:39:07 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 3:

He's smart. You know why he's smart? Because of you lose fans that way. It's like, you know, you're going to piss off 50% of the world by doing that. And honestly, I got to tell you something. I'm shocked how much politics Charlemagne and Envy talk about on their show. And it's wild because I asked her. I said, hey, I want to see their ratings, their Nielsen ratings. And I think it reflects in the ratings because the ratings are not as great as I thought that they would be. I just think talking politics. I think people want to release from politics.

01:39:42 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 1:

they're also a show in a market that is mostly populated by one political democrat i mean

01:39:48 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 3:

they're new york city it's a bit but they're on all across the country though on on they're on all over the place but and i listen and i get the idea that that uh they are you know they're a show that likes to talk to you.

01:40:00 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 5:

talk and do some controversial stuff and talk controversial stuff and have great interviews and things. I just think, honestly, I think that's why we as a show, we report stuff like this, but we're not going to sit there and go crazy heavily talking about politics. I think people want an escape from it. And I think 50 Cent going, you know what? I don't care if you're Democrat or Republican. I want you to come into my concert.

01:40:23 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I get that too.

01:40:24 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, Taylor Swift's dad flies Southwest Airlines. Come on, there's no way. And here's the funny thing. Well, there's photos and video of it, but Scott Swift allegedly buddied up to his seatmate on a recent Southwest Airlines flight out of New Orleans. And this girl, like, didn't record the whole thing, but she posted a photo on TikTok and it was captioned, just Mr. Swift on my way home, on my flight home from NOLA. Her name's Taylor Moore. And she said she was like kind of freaking out when Taylor Swift's dad comes and sits, you know, right near her. And she said she didn't ask anything about Travis Kelsey specifically. But she says Mr. Swift just gushed about him, talked about how much he loves Travis for his daughter, which was super cute to her. I guess he also subtly dissed his daughter's exes by saying he said something like out of all of her boyfriends over the past 12 years, Travis has made the biggest impact on her and our family, but

01:41:27 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 5:

If my kids became Taylor Swift famous and didn't get me a plane,

01:41:31 - 01:41:35 | Speaker 4:

I'd be so pissed. What is he doing? I don't know. How the hell is he

01:41:35 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 3:

on Southwest? Maybe the private jet was being used. I don't know.

01:41:39 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 5:

If he was on Spirit, then I'd really be pissed. I mean, I like Southwest. Southwest is actually great.

01:41:45 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 4:

She's worth a billion dollars. Yeah. What are we doing here? Give me the plane for a day.

01:41:51 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 3:

01:42:03 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 1:

Missed something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:42:10 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 5:

I can't stop thinking about this Jamison Williams thing. I want to talk about it. I know you're going to do it in the Dirty, Shannon.

01:42:17 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 3:

No, let's talk about it though.

01:42:18 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 5:

But I want to talk about it real quick if we can, because Shannon's been reporting this story this morning that was broken by one of the local detroit television stations a story about detroit lions wide receiver jamison williams this guy's had a little bit of issues since he's joined this team he's gotten suspended a couple of times got suspended last year for gambling which is against uh the the rules of the nfl this year he got suspended for a substance he He had a substance in him that's banned by the league.

01:42:49 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 4:

See, I think it's very important because when you say these things and they use them as headlines, it sounds very bad at face value. But when you take into account and you put it in context that he was gambling in a hotel room, not on the team's facility, which is a very important factor, but when you're traveling with the team, they still consider that as a part of the team's facility, which is stupid. gambling in a hotel room on college football games and then the cream that he was using wasn't on the ban list. So it's not like he's doing things that are like... Is that what it was?

01:43:23 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 5:

It was ADD medication. Yeah. What was it? He tested positive for a chemical that you're not supposed to have.

01:43:31 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 3:

Right. No, I knew that. I just didn't know what specifically it was.

01:43:34 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 5:

I don't know specifically if it was a cream or not a cream. But I do know this. The latest one, if the TV station didn't do the investigation, we wouldn't know what's going on with Jamison Williams because obviously what took place and what transpired and I'll play you the news clip that they have here but people, fans are not happy and it's not with Jamo and it's not with the Detroit Police Department it's funny, people are okay you cover up somebody's crime as long as it's a guy that's going to bring a Super Bowl to Detroit

01:44:05 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 6:

Can I respond to what Kev said though real quick? I don't disagree with you that it is a dumb rule about the gambling thing but everybody in the league knows it, and he still did it. It, to me, is a lot like the sign-stealing that Michigan did. Like, it is a dumb rule, but it is a rule.

01:44:21 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 4:

No, you can do it. You just can't do it on the team's facility. He was in a hotel room.

01:44:25 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 6:

But they know that's a part of where they can't gamble.

01:44:30 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 5:

All right, let's focus on this one, though, because this one, this latest one here, if this costs us Jameson Williams for the rest of the year, I am canceling my cable.

01:44:39 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 2:

Our news tonight is that off-the-field issue now facing one of the Detroit Lions' young stars who is already serving a two-game suspension over performance-enhancing drugs.

01:44:51 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 5:

That's my girl, Carolyn Clifford. I like her.

01:44:54 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm Carolyn Clifford.

01:44:56 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 4:

And I'm Mike Duffy.

01:44:57 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea who he is. sports fan base, and across the NFL. Now, earlier this month, police nearly arrested

01:45:04 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 1:

Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams after they say he was caught with a concealed handgun during a traffic stop. Williams is not a CPL holder. The seven investigators exclusively obtaining body cam video of the police stop in Detroit. But were the cuffs taken off because of his high

01:45:23 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 2:

profile status? Our questions have already triggered a Detroit police internal investigation.

01:45:28 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 1:

Here's to have an investigator, Ross Jones, with what he has learned.

01:45:33 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

I want to know if the fact that this individual was a Detroit Lions player, did that play a factor in the decision? Of course it did.

01:45:41 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 5:

It's just after midnight on October 8th, and near the corner of Connor and Jefferson, two Detroit police officers are pulling over a driver for speeding.

01:45:49 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 6:

I'm off the Detroit police. You know why I'm stopping you?

01:45:51 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 5:

In the passenger seat of the black Audi is Detroit Lions wide receiver, Jameson Williams. Driving the car is his brother.

01:45:58 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 6:

Before you start returning, any weapons in the vehicle? Yeah. Yeah, here's a CPL holder? Yeah. Okay, where's your CPL at? All right. Any other weapons in the vehicle besides that one? Uh, yeah. You got another one. Where's that one at? You don't got to reach for it. It's over there with that one.

01:46:11 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 5:

Officers said they found the second gun under Jameson Williams' seat. They would take both weapons, finding that the first, found in the back seat, was registered to Williams' brother, who had a concealed pistol license. The gun under Williams' seat was registered to him, but he didn't have a CPL. And that, the officer concluded, was a problem. By the way, this guy has the creepiest voice.

01:46:33 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I like his voice. You do? Yeah, it's very like...

01:46:36 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 4:

He's got a voice like this. He should do Dateline. Do you think so? He's got like the...

01:46:42 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 6:

On Dateline. I'm going to take you off, okay? What? You're going to start preparing a concealed weapon. And I'm just explaining it to you so I can be transparent. But you want to do that, okay?

01:46:53 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 5:

It's clear from the stop that the officer does not know who Williams is. But repeatedly, he would remind him.

01:46:59 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 6:

Only because I play for the Lions, bro. I'm James. Bro, I play for the Detroit Lions. Bro, I play for the Lions. Sir, I understand you play for the Lions. That doesn't give you, like, any... I know, but I can call somebody right now that you can talk to.

01:47:12 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I love the don't you know who I am. I play for the Detroit Lions. I can get you tickets to Sunday's game. I mean... You want to sit next to Aiden Hutchinson and his family? I'll get you tickets.

01:47:24 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 5:

At one point, Williams' brother tells police that the gun belongs to him. But during the stop, the Lions wide receiver admits the gun is his.

01:47:33 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 6:

I got a gun for protection. Do y'all know where I live at?

01:47:37 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 4:

Detroit. Despite. He said that to the cop. Yeah. I mean, J-Mo be out here though. Yeah.

01:47:43 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 5:

Like he'd be at the Coney's and all that. He'd really be out here. His celebrity status, Williams is handcuffed and placed in the back of the squad car. DPD commander Michael McGinnis says that was the right call.

01:47:53 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 3:

I feel that there was probable cause to arrest and that he was under arrest by the patrol officer. And because of that, he should have been conveyed to the Detroit Detention Center and processed. But Williams wasn't taken to jail.

01:48:06 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 5:

Instead, a supervisor was called to the scene. The department says that's not unusual for a high-profile stop. It's a precaution to make sure I's are dotted and T's are crossed. So within a few minutes, a sergeant arrives on scene.

01:48:20 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 6:

What's his name?

01:48:21 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 5:

unlike the responding officers the sergeant is a lions fan that's made clear by looking at his

01:48:43 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 4:

cell phone oh wait he's got it like the the home screen is just bright blue it has a big yeah go in the middle of a lion's fan how's the other how by the way how's the cop that pulled them over not a lion's man what is going on where do they hire that guy from over the next 30 minutes

01:49:00 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 5:

the sergeant would make a series of phone calls to higher ranking officials trying to determine if williams called dan campbell or if the driver's concealed pistol license covered both his and will at one point the sergeant can be heard whispering something to the arresting officer's partner

01:49:16 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 3:

He indicated he was so mad at them, and I think what he was referring to was the arresting officers, I assume in a jovial way, for them having made the traffic stop and detained the passenger.

01:49:32 - 01:49:45 | Speaker 4:

It's unbelievable. This is Detroit. They don't pull you over for anything in Detroit. What's going on? This is Jameson Williams. This is the Lions player. By the way, we've got to get Jameson Williams hooked up with top-notch limousine and party bus so he doesn't get pulled over.

01:49:45 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 5:

After conferring with multiple supervisors, the sergeant makes two more phone calls and it sounds like Williams is about to be taken to jail.

01:50:00 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 6:

it's the 11th but minutes later everything changes the sergeant speaks to a lieutenant who says williams should be released from custody we can't hear his side of the conversation okay

01:50:11 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 4:

beautiful i'm good to let him go yes you're here thank you so much wow they said they said to him

01:50:18 - 01:50:21 | Speaker 7:

him they said let him go and then he said

01:50:21 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 6:

jameson jameson jameson jameson is taken out of cuffs his gun is returned a police report is not written no warrant request would be submitted to the prosecutor so what's the point of today

01:50:46 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 7:

Because it was illegal what they did. That's why they're doing it.

01:50:51 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask a question? I am not a gun owner, so I don't understand this, nor do I have my CPL. If you have a gun, why would you have a gun and not a CPL?

01:51:01 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 8:

So I can only speak to Ohio laws because that's what I'm familiar with, but I believe the issue here is that it was loaded and within arm's reach of him. If it would have been unloaded and maybe-

01:51:10 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 4:

No, but I'm saying if you own a gun, why wouldn't you automatically be like, oh, I have to go get my CPL?

01:51:14 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 7:

Well, because it takes a class, to go get it but uh also the other thing too is you can own a gun at home and not have a cpl it

01:51:21 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 8:

just is all it is for carrying it around or be like a sport shooter yeah okay yeah or open i don't know michigan i don't know michigan open carry laws either but i know ohio has open carry so you don't need it as long as people can see that you have it on you internal affairs investigation

01:51:36 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 6:

into this case and the decision not to arrest the lions wide receiver late last week a warrant request was submitted to the Wayne County prosecutor's office, with Williams facing a charge of carrying a concealed weapon in a motor vehicle. Quite naturally, I think the probable

01:51:51 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 1:

cause was there for an arrest on this particular individual. And my concern in this particular case is to make sure that we've done everything legitimately in this case.

01:52:01 - 01:52:53 | Speaker 6:

Well, the following Sunday, Williams traveled with the team to Dallas, where he recorded three catches for 76 yards and a touchdown. Today, the Detroit Lions released the following statement. It reads, Jameson made us aware immediately that he was a passenger in a routine traffic stop on October 8th. We discussed the incident with him and have kept the league informed of what we know. We understand he was released without incident or citation. It is now our understanding that the Detroit Police Department is revisiting the matter. Jameson has hired an attorney and will not be commenting further out of respect for the legal process. We also received a statement from Williams' attorney, Todd Flood. It reads, on October 8th, my clients were pulled over for a election. Floods the attorney? You know him? He's married to one of the people over at Channel 7. What? Yeah, he's married to... Why you compare the story to? Todd! The flag ain't so big.

01:52:54 - 01:52:56 | Speaker 7:

This is craziness. By the way...

01:52:56 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 6:

They're freeway mode, man. He's a good guy.

01:52:59 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 7:

I think you don't do this story until after the Super Bowl. You wait until after the Super Bowl, and then you go, I got a story I want to bring back up here right now.

01:53:06 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 5:

I need a breaking news. The Lions will handle this internally. That's all we really need. And the NFL allowed him to do such. Spunge all the information. Let's keep it moving, man. We game planning for Sunday.

01:53:18 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 7:

Breaking news here on Channel 7. Ross Jones has just been put on the I'm not reporting list until after the season's over. Alfonso, what's going on? How you doing?

01:53:32 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. I'm good. Good morning, everyone.

01:53:34 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 7:

Alfonso, there's a report out this morning that a warrant has been issued for Jamison Williams this morning. Your thoughts on this? If we lose Jamison Williams anymore, are we in trouble?

01:53:48 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

No, we would be okay. But this is, see, we shoot our own self in the foot. I mean, the newcomer, I mean, the newscasters of Detroit. Why would you report this, something that happened earlier this year, and now you're bringing it out when we're on the winner's streak trying to get to a Super Bowl? But that's their job.

01:54:12 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 7:

Once they find out about it, that's their job. I know it's their job. But you know what? Report on the Minnesota Vikings or something. Report on the Green Bay Packers this weekend. Why report on our own self, though? I know.

01:54:23 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 3:

What are we trying to do better?

01:54:25 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 7:

Listen, if I had this story, I would be itching to tell everybody about it. but I wouldn't tell it until after the season was over with. I'd wait until afterwards.

01:54:33 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course. But, you know, for them to bring it up so late now, we're almost in November, and this something happened earlier this year.

01:54:41 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 2:

I know.

01:54:41 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 3:

It just don't make sense.

01:54:42 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 2:

I know.

01:54:43 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 3:

It's like they're wishing something bad happened, you know, which we know they don't.

01:54:48 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 7:

The social media posts, by the way, that WXYZ put up there, the social media posts has some not-so-happy Lions fans up there. A lot of people, and it's funny because, obviously, with the Caps

01:55:00 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 5:

did, you know, was against probably protocol and everything. If you or I got pulled over and had this, we'd be already in coughs. Your butt would be still in jail. But still, we don't score two. How many touchdowns has he gotten this year so far? How many yards? I don't know. He called up. You just screwed up my fantasy

01:55:16 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 1:

team. I know, honestly, and I accidentally played him last week.

01:55:20 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 4:

So many people get favors done for them depending upon who they are. It may not be to this level, but everybody gets a favor done once in a while.

01:55:29 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 1:

The problem is now that this case is so very public that it's going to set a precedent for anybody else in this situation.

01:55:36 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 5:

I wonder what the league's going to do. I wonder if the league will step in and give him more.

01:55:40 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 1:

Because Kev, I agree with you. But now that this has been made so public and everybody's talking about it, you know, it's like when Joe Schmo gets pulled over and his passenger has a gun under the seat.

01:55:54 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 5:

Medina. Hi, Medina.

01:56:00 - 01:56:00 | Unknown:

Medina.

01:56:03 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 5:

Medina. Is that your name, Medina?

01:56:07 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 3:

He did everything correct.

01:56:09 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry, you just can't all of a sudden just start talking and then not take it. Medina, say that again. What did you say?

01:56:16 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 3:

I said Jamison did everything correct. He went straight to his higher ups and let them know what happened. This is a DPD issue. This has nothing to do with the Lions. at this point y'all better take y'all L and fire them people but this don't have nothing to do with jail

01:56:31 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 2:

well he couldn't do everything correct

01:56:34 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 5:

he didn't have the appropriate you know he didn't have a concealed weapons

01:56:38 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 3:

I understand that but guess what I mean okay I done been in the legal system I might have a felony so you know

01:56:47 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 2:

like in the process I'm gonna deny

01:56:50 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 3:

yeah no go off go off I'm here to protect my man okay No, she right Who do you think

01:57:03 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 5:

Somebody just texted in

01:57:03 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 3:

So why So why would they drop the ball And now all of a sudden you want to come after him I don't agree with that Double jeopardy

01:57:13 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 5:

Somebody just texted in and said who's the snitch Exactly Who told the TV station about this

01:57:19 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 3:

Probably the freaking Whoever we beat last year I don't know We got a mole

01:57:27 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 5:

There's a mole I want to know who it is

01:57:29 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 3:

She brings up a good point though However If he turns himself in today He will still be able to play on Sunday As long as he's not suspended I don't see them I don't see the Lions taking any further action Because he went to them And let them know what happened

01:57:43 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah well the league could say something The league could say he's got another issue here That we'll suspend him for two more games or something

01:57:50 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah but let him stop picking on us Here's the problem Well, I literally just tried to hinder him.

01:57:55 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 5:

Here's the problem. The problem is what he did, he did wrong by having the gun without the appropriate, you know, CPL. So that's his problem. If that would have come out like a week or two weeks ago or would have happened, he probably wouldn't have played in the Dallas game, which was before he even got suspended for what he's suspended for right now. But you're right. This is a bigger issue for the Detroit Police Department. They're obviously in trouble, the cops that let him go. But they were protecting the Lions. You know what I mean? They were protecting this guy.

01:58:27 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 4:

How can they go back and charge him, though, if they already let him go?

01:58:29 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 5:

Because what he did was illegal.

01:58:32 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 4:

But I'm saying it was illegal, but you let me go. Now you're going back two weeks ago. That's a good question. But if you commit a crime. Is that allowed? That's what I'm saying. Is that double jeopardy? No, because he didn't go.

01:58:41 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 1:

No, because he wasn't charged the first time. Yeah.

01:58:42 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so you can just retroactively charge me?

01:58:45 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:58:45 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Why? Because he committed a crime.

01:58:47 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:58:48 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 4:

I don't like that.

01:58:49 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 5:

I don't like it either.

01:58:50 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 2:

You don't like it because it's J-Mo.

01:58:51 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 5:

I don't like it if it's done for you.

01:58:53 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing. If this was Aaron Rodgers, we'd all be like, get it! I'm trying to find something, y'all.

01:58:59 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Abby? Very true.

01:59:01 - 01:59:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey, first time, long time. Hey, Abby. Abby's on the phone. What's up, guys? What's up? So my thought was maybe this reporter is from a different state and is a fan of a different team. I don't know.

01:59:16 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 5:

No, he's from here. He's a good reporter. But he should have kept the story I wouldn't have done the story

01:59:22 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm just saying Maybe some higher ups At Channel 7 or something Want the lines to go down Is bribery illegal in media?

01:59:34 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 5:

Listen They're doing anything to keep the lights on They're like we are, you know what I mean, advertising wise

01:59:39 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 2:

Why not just ask for hush money?

01:59:40 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 5:

Well, too late

01:59:42 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 2:

Wait, is that illegal? That would be wrong

01:59:46 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 5:

Do you think Brad Galley ran down to uh ross jones's office and said what the hell are you doing you know you're screwing it up now brad galli is gonna be in the locker room trying to get interviews

02:00:00 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 1:

It's a sickening Hey, aren't you Brad Galley from the station that did that report? Holy crap What's going on? Alright, so there you go That's the latest on that channel We'll talk more about it in the dirty I will Yeah, probably I know, we got to

02:00:15 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 2:

We just talked about it for like 20 minutes

02:00:16 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 1:

I know, but it's still a good story I don't know

02:00:18 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to his brother too Trying to take the rap J-Mo when he said it was his gun

02:00:23 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 1:

That's a brother, by the way My brother would have thrown my ass under Although, you know, he's probably supporting his brother He's probably, you know Hey, man, you got to do what you got to do. How would you like to be a professional athlete's brother and you're the guy that can't catch a ball?

02:00:39 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell your mom.

02:00:46 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 1:

02:04:27 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, thanks, Brad And we were doing five lies to tell your mom you know usually when you have a kid call up to mom saying i'm going to jail it's usually somebody that's not the type that's going to jail but greg is actually greg's kind of the type that goes to

Huh?

02:05:09 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was getting out of it. Yeah. He was putting me in Meadow Lodge.

02:05:12 - 02:05:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Shout out to Meadow Lodge. What kind of a son do we have here?

02:05:17 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 2:

The one that's going to be out of the will. Yeah, that's right.

02:05:21 - 02:05:34 | Speaker 4:

Mom, you're on five lies. Tell your mom he did get all the lies out. We got to give her at least a prize because he got all the lies out. Poor mom's still a little confused by this one. You better check your blood pressure, too, real quick.

02:05:35 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 1:

What a dick.

02:05:36 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 4:

Actually, I think her blood pressure went down because she realized that she was not having to deal with your ass, Greg.

02:05:45 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:05:48 - 02:05:49 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:05:50 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 5:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:05:51 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we need a contestant for 5 Lies for next week. If you would like to be on the Mojo in the Morning Show calling your mom up and doing 5 Lies, text MOM to 95500. KP told me that we need a good one for next week. So if you have some ideas, too, on what would set your mom off and get her all crazy, that we could start as a little lie, text mom to 95500 and then tell us.

02:06:22 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Let's make her really mad.

02:06:23 - 02:06:24 | Speaker 4:

Say that again. I'm sorry.

02:06:25 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 2:

I said, let's make her very mad.

02:06:27 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I like that. I was like, oh, okay. Let's make your mom mad. Go text mom and then tell us what. Does that help you, by the way, when people text you and say, hey, this is an idea?

02:06:39 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 2:

Channel 7 breaking news here. I am Stephen Clark and I don't know who I am Karen Clifford. Go ahead. What's going on? Who was it? Who is the mole that gave them this story?

02:07:21 - 02:07:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. Yeah, it was Gardner White.

02:07:24 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 4:

Gardner White?

02:07:25 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 5:

Why? Oh, yeah, because they can't get away all that free furniture with a Super Bowl win.

02:07:29 - 02:07:30 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:07:31 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That is pretty good. That might be, honestly, that might be the greatest line of them all. Could you imagine? That's right. I forgot about that. What are they doing? What's their promotion that they're doing?

02:07:47 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 5:

The Lions win a Super Bowl. They give out everything free, like free furniture. Rich and Stewart.

02:07:53 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 3:

It's a big week. Our Lions kick off their new season Sunday night. Oh, that's funny.

02:07:57 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's funny. Oh, that's a great one. Wait a second.

02:08:00 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, never mind.

02:08:00 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 4:

Maybe that is. Let's see how much money they're spending in advertising on that station. They need to look into it. All right, thank you for the call. We appreciate it.

02:08:11 - 02:08:13 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:08:13 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon with What's Trending in this hour's Dirty on the 30. Shannon, good morning.

02:08:17 - 02:09:27 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. No fat girls. I say that because apparently Diddy was extremely, someone else's words, not mine. Diddy was extremely particular about the women who attended his freak-off parties. Yes. And one party planner, in fact, says she kept a scale in her car to ensure that no female guest weighed more than 140 pounds because she was given strict instructions, quote unquote, no fat girls. This party planner worked with Diddy in 2004 and 2005. She asked to remain anonymous and she said the girls had to be young and hot. So I always had a scale nearby in case I needed to make sure the number was 140 pounds. But if a girl was really tall, there was a little bit of discretion involved. No flab, no cellulite, not overly pierced or tattooed, no short hair, no pants, no jeans, no flat shoes. Every girl had to wear a party dress, preferably very short, just enough to cover her butt cheeks, but no longer than mid-thigh. Cleavage showing, and every single one of them had to be wearing stilettos. And this woman said, one thing we were to never ask was the girl's ages. This party planner said it was, don't ask, don't tell.

02:09:28 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 3:

It's not like a normal Halloween. What am I saying? It sounds like a normal. Well, don't say it. It sounds like a normal Hollywood party.

02:09:38 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Normal Hollywood party. I'll be perfectly honest with you. I know you didn't say that. When I hear all of these ditty stuff of what's going on, and then I heard, you know, you report that he kept every list of every person that went through that door. this guy knew how illegal everything was and he was like if i go

02:10:00 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 6:

down, everyone's going down. And I'm going to take them all down with me. That's interesting.

02:10:04 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 2:

It was fan interference at its finest. Two Yankees fans sitting in the front row near the foul pole in right field were called for fan interference after they tried to rip Mookie Betts' glove off his hand as he made a play on a foul ball last night in Game 4 of the World Series. You got to hear

02:10:23 - 02:10:25 | Speaker 6:

this call real quick. This is actually pretty funny.

02:10:26 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 3:

Betts in the corner. Does he have room? fights with the fan and they're gonna say that it's an out this guy's like fan interference

02:10:36 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 2:

these two these are typical new york yankees fans right they're crazy they tried to jump in

02:10:41 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

and steal the ball it's the second time that glaber torres has hit a ball that has ended up but one fan actually ripped the ball out of his glove and like tried to take the glove with it crazy that says that ball in his glove and this fan literally tries to take his glove off That's insanity. Crash the ball out of there. Who are you? Hey, Yankees. Actually, we know who they are. He won't be watching the game much longer. They should be banned.

02:11:05 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so officials quickly called fan interference. Granted Betts the out. Security showed up. Hauled these two out of there. It was a guy and his brother. Of course. From the Bronx. And their excuse was that Betts had been swearing at them. I mean, the whole thing. Here's Mookie Betts after the game. How is that man feeling? Because it kind of looked like, from our perspective, that your wrist kind of went a little bit backwards.

02:11:27 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't even know he grabbed my hand. So, no, it's perfectly fine.

02:11:31 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Was that about as aggressive as you've seen fans in all your time in the game?

02:11:39 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 4:

When it comes to the person in play, it doesn't matter. We lost. It's irrelevant. I'm fine. He's fine. Everything's cool. We lost the game, and that's what I'm kind of focused on. You got to turn the page and get ready for tomorrow. I'm not sure. I didn't look back over there. Did you get hurt? I didn't look back over there. Mom, everything's fine.

02:12:02 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 2:

I love that everybody asked the same question when he already said it didn't hurt.

02:12:06 - 02:12:07 | Unknown:

Did you get hurt?

02:12:07 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 6:

By the way, did you see Freddie Freeman hit another home run?

02:12:10 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 5:

Bro, isn't that a record?

02:12:11 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 6:

I think he's, what is it, four straight games or something? Exactly, yeah. Barry Bonds used to have the record, I think, with three tied with somebody else, but four straight. So Freddie Freeman is the first baseman for the Dodgers. The guy's son almost died this year. He had to leave a game in the middle of the game to go be by his son's bedside in an emergency room. And he's like one of the nicest guys in all of sports. And he wasn't doing great up until this in the playoffs. Like he kind of had a rough couple of series before this. It's like the nicest guy in the world.

02:12:40 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Don't you love that to hear that?

02:12:42 - 02:12:47 | Speaker 6:

And he's not a Yankee. Is there anybody rooting for the Yankees?

02:12:47 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 5:

I am. Really? I mean, I grew up. It was Jeter. It was A-Rod. It was Boston versus New York Yankees. He's from New York. I don't care. Mario Rivera.

02:12:56 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 6:

Mariano.

02:12:57 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 5:

Mariano.

02:12:58 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 6:

Mario Rivera was the name of a restaurant, wasn't it? No, he's an actor.

02:13:02 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 5:

Ain't he Mario Rivera?

02:13:04 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 6:

No, Mario Lopez.

02:13:05 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 5:

No, Mario Rivera is somebody for real.

02:13:07 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:13:08 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 5:

I see.

02:13:09 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 2:

IMDB. All right, and I wanted to update you on something. He's a saxophonist. It's so random. You did not know that. I want to update you on something that went around yesterday. There was supposed to be a Liam Payne song that was dropping later this week. That drop has been postponed, rightfully so. The guy who was doing a duet with Liam on the song, Sam Pound, said he's decided to hold off on Do No Wrong. That was the song's name. And leave the decision instead up to Liam's family. And the rumor that I heard was Liam's family was not for this release at all. And something else I'm hearing while we're talking about Liam Payne's death. That fatal fall from that third floor balcony in Argentina was captured on CCTV. And an Argentinian broadcast journalist says you can tell he did not jump deliberately. He truly just fell. Yeah. 02:14:11 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning show. what do you do when you're Shannon? What happened last night? So it was such a beautiful night.

02:14:19 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 2:

Like we have to take advantage of this crazy weather. Right. And so I had said to Wes, I'm like, let's go out to eat and let's try to go somewhere where there's a patio so we can sit outside and, you know, just enjoy the 80 degree temperature that we're getting right now. And we have our two older kids with us this week. So it was four of us that decided to go out. And so we're driving and I kind of had a restaurant in mind so we pull up and the patio was totally crowded so I'm like okay that's fine now I have my heart set on like one specific menu item you know so we walk inside and I see a table of people a group of people that I don't care to be around for various reasons they are not nice people and so I looked at him and I was like go back go back go back go back and we turned around and walked right out and didn't say anything to anybody and got in the car and went to another restaurant oh my gosh you knew that garbage truck like it was it was and a lot of times if that like if i see somebody that i'm like oh you know i like it wouldn't bother me per se like i can especially if like i really wanted to go to a certain place you know sometimes you're in those moods where you're like i don't feel around i don't feel like being around negativity today so that was last night i was

02:15:45 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 4:

like nope and we went somewhere else where people which wasn't as good was where west and his kids where they're like, what the F? Were they understanding?

02:15:54 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 2:

Wes understood. His kids don't have any idea who these people are. But yeah.

02:16:00 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 4:

Because I have to tell you that I've had that happen before with people where you go somewhere and they're like, oh my God, my ex is there. Oh my God, or whatever. See, like that doesn't bother me. And you're like, I don't want to go in this way. Or I'm like, oh my God, I don't want to see my boss. Or I don't want to go in. I'm like going, but I want the burger and fries at Redcoach.

02:16:15 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 2:

I know. Trust me, I was so mad. I don't want that. Especially after we ended up eating at the place we did,

02:16:21 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 4:

which i'm also not going to say and i was like that sucked i don't care i don't care how bad how bad these people are food is more important than these people i'd eat it right in front of

02:16:31 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 2:

them but i wonder if people because we didn't even ask for a wait time like i did not even talk to the host nothing yeah we literally walked in and walked literally backwards right back out what do

02:16:40 - 02:16:59 | Speaker 4:

you do what do you do if you walk into a place and when you walk in you see somebody that's either like your ex or somebody that you blew off recently or a client that you don't like or a co-worker you don't want to sit next to, what do you do when that happens to you?

02:16:59 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 3:

We all know what you do. Huh? You confront them. You love to walk up and go,

02:17:05 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 2:

hey, buddy. You do. Hey.

02:17:08 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 4:

Although I will say this.

02:17:09 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm so happy I wasn't with you because I feel like that's exactly what you would have done.

02:17:14 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 4:

I would have been your secret service. I would have had one ear. All right, Shannon, keep walking. keep walking keep walking i would have kept you from getting shot in the ear it is satisfying to

02:17:23 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 3:

watch from an outsider perspective you confront somebody i'm like oh he really gives no blame

02:17:27 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 4:

because my my thing is i feel like as uncomfortable as i am with them there i'm gonna make them equally as uncomfortable i'll walk up and go hey what's going on um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 Have you ever had this happen to you where you walked in anywhere only to see somebody that you didn't want to see? Or, you know, what do you do? Would you go in and eat your meal and eat it proudly? Or, you know, or has anybody ever gone in? Or maybe you're any service industry people like waiters, waitresses, hostesses. Have you ever had somebody say, please sit me across the room? I can't tell you why, but.

02:18:05 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 2:

I can't sit in this vicinity.

02:18:07 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Or did you have to wait on somebody you didn't like? Oh, yeah, yeah. Did you have to? You know what I mean? They're in your section.

02:18:14 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, I'm more in the server's perspective with my situation, because I didn't walk in on them, but I did have my ex deliver my mattress two weeks after we broke up. Are you waiting on a mattress? Shut up. I showed up at my front door, and I said, you will never be sleeping on this, bad boy.

02:18:29 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 4:

What was that like? Were you getting rid of the mattress because of the relationship?

02:18:33 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. I used to work with a company who I absolutely loved, who was just delivering me a nice new one. Denver mattress? It was. And he showed up at my front door and I went, you gotta be effing kidding me. I know you saw my name on that delivery list. I got this one. Yeah, you know he did. I was like, get out of my room. Yeah, that's so cute. Yes. He already knew where to go. Yeah. I know where you are. He was like, up there. Second door of the room. You saw my shirt that you never get back?

02:19:06 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 4:

Have all your underwear laying around. What's up? is it Carly or who is this on the phone?

02:19:13 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's Carly. Carly. Hi, Carly. What's up, Carly? Yes, yes, yes. I wanted to let Shannon know you got to learn how to start owning your space, your area, your situation. And the best revenge is to show them that you will have joy no matter what, even if they are there.

02:19:29 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:19:30 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 2:

You are 100% right, Carly, and you are the second person to tell me that this week.

02:19:35 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 4:

Who was the other one, Wes?

02:19:36 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 2:

No, it was not Wes. But I agree with you. It's just, excuse me, I'm choking on something I was not in the mood Last night, like I just I was not in the mood to be anxious Through an entire dinner that I wanted to enjoy Yeah

02:19:51 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Next time laugh harder Smile No, just walk by with your middle finger You know what

02:20:00 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 3:

the problem though the pro the problem though with um having this happen is you can't eat the way you want to eat yeah you want them to think that you're eating healthy and stuff too oh i don't care about that really oh well as me as a fat guy i would do that you change your order i was yeah yeah yeah absolutely i was telling chelsea that that's the one thing with doordash that has ruined us doordash has ruined me to a point where she's like hey do you you know we try to go out and like, hey, let's go out to dinner and something. I'm like, can we just order? Can we just order in here? It's like so much easier sometimes. I've been eating chicken sandwiches from Red Robin like every day.

02:20:40 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 2:

Really? Those are very good. Oh my God. Wait, do you get the healthy one? It's on their healthy menu? I know that sounds. The clock, it's something clock. Let me Google it. It's seriously so good. Do you still have the bruschetta chicken?

02:20:52 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Wait, you're back to, you are back full-fledged to chicken. I told you, Robin's going crazy. This guy went from being a pescatarian To now Red Robin got me in the chokehold And I told you that was going to happen The moment that you took Josiah To get chicken wings and you gave in You were done You're done for It's called Let me guess Because I order a lot Is it the clucker or something What is it called Crispy chicken sandwich What's their grilled chicken called That's what I'm saying It's a healthy one Yeah It's a California chicken

02:21:29 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 2:

It's called the Simply Grilled

02:21:30 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 3:

Is it? I thought it was California chicken

02:21:32 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 2:

They got a California chicken one They do I'm not getting either of those I'm getting that crispy chicken Bruh Look at his face

02:21:37 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 3:

They got a sauce on them I might get another one today

02:21:39 - 02:21:44 | Speaker 2:

When I stopped working there I stopped eating there You ate at Red Robin?

02:21:44 - 02:21:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean you worked there? Oh for years Let her sing the birthday song to you There's six of them Which one do you want? Red Robin I didn't know they did birthday song You want the Flaystowns one? You want the Boy Girl Alouette version? Do you want Oscar Mayer?

02:21:56 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 3:

Dealer's Choice.

02:21:57 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 1:

Come on, come on, come on. Birthday. It's your birthday. And we're here to help you celebrate. Break, break, break from the good Robin. And we have your day as well. Great, great, great, great Sunday. That's the treat you're going to eat. It's free. So the price will give you beat when you're at Red Robin. You'll have a happy, happy birthday. Oh, what a happy birthday. Oh, what? You'll have a great old day.

02:22:17 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 3:

That goes to Jacqueline.

02:22:19 - 02:22:32 | Speaker 1:

There you go. That's for you, Jacqueline. Let me tell you, though. I stopped eating there. because I have it every day when I work there. I love Red Robin, but man, they changed their menu a lot. You still got the hookup? I actually still do on the Monroe Street location in Toledo. That's where I worked.

02:22:32 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 2:

I was the Red Robin. Thank you very much. Peppermint, candy cane, Oreo milkshake. What do you mean you were the Red Robin? They used to, every Saturday from noon to two, have Red Robin at the restaurant to entertain kids with balloons. That was me.

02:22:44 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 3:

You can't work at a place that you once loved because you'll never want to go back there again as a customer afterwards.

02:22:49 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 2:

It genuinely was so good, and the menu was so good that I ate there so much.

02:22:56 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 3:

I have a video I want to share. See if KP can post this because I want to know if this is appropriate. We had a delivery to our house yesterday. I want you guys to go look at this video. And I put it in our group chat. I want you to look at the video of the delivery guy throwing my package literally from the street to my house. Have you ever, has anybody ever caught the delivery person just like throwing their package? I could not believe this thing. This thing was, by the way, this might be the greatest throw ever. I actually did a still shot, too, of the thing, too, because.

02:23:35 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

02:23:36 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 3:

Is that unbelievable?

02:23:37 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 2:

Why do these delivery guys do that when they know that everybody has a camera on their doorbell now?

02:23:43 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 3:

It was. I mean, first off, that throw, that's like professional, isn't it? Eat cornhole, Joe Packer. whatever that was is that unreal have has that ever happened to anybody has anybody ever had um or caught the delivery driver doing something not just throwing it has anybody caught the delivery person doing something like have you ever had a you know a ups amazon fedex whoever like peeing in your trees or you know I bet you it has to happen 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 The craziest was Chelsea What was that? Luckily it was A pair of jeans that Chelsea ordered So she ordered these jeans But look at that package flying in the sky I caught it like still shot It's mid air It's unbelievable

02:24:41 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 2:

Your porch pots look very nice. Look at this guy.

02:24:44 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Kev is right. Can we find out if this guy is a cornhole champion? I'm telling you. We should do it. I remember one time where a friend of mine was getting, he was getting furniture delivered. He was getting new furniture and he had the guy.

02:25:00 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 2:

I think it might have been it might have been the guy in the brown truck the big brown truck through his furniture he lived in Birmingham and you know how the sidewalks, the street and the sidewalks are right there and then the house is not that far like it's not like it's a long walk he was parked on the street he threw it over the sidewalk

02:25:23 - 02:25:25 | Speaker 4:

no, furniture

02:25:25 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 2:

I swear to Shannon Shannon, I swear to hand to God, he had the video of the guy throwing it, and he was throwing it from the street. He never had to take one step onto his property to do this thing. And I know that there are certain neighborhoods where the street is close to the house, you know? Those are usually the ones where they don't have mailboxes, they have them right up on their thing. You can, like, throw it right to it. What's going on, Yoshi?

02:25:56 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey. How are you? Oh, good. Good morning. How are you?

02:25:59 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. We're talking about, what did you catch the delivery person doing?

02:26:04 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm a mailman. Oh. And I've done it myself. I'm not going to lie. All right? But I popped my package.

02:26:17 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 2:

How do you know it's not a breakable item in there?

02:26:20 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 3:

Fragile. I mean, usually it says fragile.

02:26:25 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay, if it doesn't say fragile. So if you don't put fragile on it, Yoshi's going to throw it all the way up on the doorstep.

02:26:34 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 3:

Listen, listen. The smaller the package, the more I know it's not breakable.

02:26:41 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. By the way. It doesn't work like that.

02:26:44 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 3:

Light bulbs.

02:26:46 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 2:

The smaller the package, the less. That's what she said. The less breakable that it is.

02:26:51 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 1:

He probably has some crazy stories. Because I'm sure the mishandling doesn't just take place during delivery. Like, back where they actually have to pack up stuff, that's why we're getting crazy, bro. It's in the truck. One of the homies worked for the Postal Service at L.A. I don't usually throw packages, but when I'm...

02:27:09 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 2:

But when I do.

02:27:11 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 3:

But when I'm in a hurry, I'm trying to get my stuff done and whatnot. Yeah. Hey, listen, don't sit here and get 17 packages and you're going to make me do 17 walks from my truck to the house.

02:27:28 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 2:

By the way, is Kev right? Are the guys back loading the truck up? Are they just throwing those things all over the place?

02:27:35 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. We're not throwing them. We're tossing them. They're tossing them?

02:27:39 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh. You are so dumb.

02:27:43 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I love this guy. Julie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:27:49 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 4:

Hey, first time caller. Hey there. Julie's on the phone.

02:27:53 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 2:

Julie, what'd you catch the delivery guy doing?

02:27:56 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 4:

I had a company deliver cabinets to my house, kitchen cabinets, and they took them out of the back of their truck and literally rolled them one by one and flipped them all the way up my driveway, up the walkway, and into my house instead of using a dolly or carrying them.

02:28:14 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. How bad do those cabinets get dinged?

02:28:19 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really bad. And then they didn't understand why. Of course.

02:28:24 - 02:28:35 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. And these are kitchen cabinets. I mean, these are items that are made of wood. They're fragile. What's up, Lisa? Hey, how are you? Good. We're talking about what did you catch the delivery guy doing?

02:28:37 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 6:

Well, a no-name small truck backed into my driveway. I have a camera on my garage, and I have a ring doorbell on my front door, and I have an outside cat. And so all of a sudden, I see the guy pick my cat up, and my cat gets in the truck with him. And I was like, there's no way this guy just stole my cat. Sure enough, he pulls out of my driveway, the window, his driver's side window is down, and I caught it on my ring doorbell. I don't know if my cat jumped out or he tossed my cat out, but my cat came flying back up my driveway. Oh, my gosh. He probably did throw it.

02:29:09 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 2:

that's that's insane the guy was trying to steal your cat and your cat fought back

02:29:14 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 6:

yeah he was like no no packages for you and took off but it was crazy he um i mean my cat's super friendly but i was like oh my gosh that was i mean that was probably not going to be a good day

02:29:24 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 2:

when i got home we had uh that is a story i think once where the cats or the the delivery person stole the dog it was like a person's nice dog so scary uh what's up jordan hi hey there what's going on we're talking about how the delivery driver threw my package what did you have a

02:29:42 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

delivery driver do yeah our amazon driver i actually have a video on tiktok but it wouldn't go through on the text message for you guys to show it's justice but he uh had to put our packages in our in a backpack first then when he got to our porch he literally just

02:30:00 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 6:

Just bent over and slung our packages out of our bag onto our porch, leaving behind Lifesaver wrappers and stuff, too. So that's when we have to look at the camera. Wrappers all over the place with our packages just thrown everywhere.

02:30:17 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 3:

Thank God for ring cameras.

02:30:19 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 6:

To get all the packages out.

02:30:21 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Thank God, by the way, for those ring cameras. What's up, Kylie? Or Kyle?

02:30:27 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 5:

Kyle, yeah. hi kyle what's up uh yeah uh last week my dog scared the crap out of him out of the think of the ups driver yeah comes right comes running up on my porch and my dog started barking he ran i have a i have a laugh so you think i'll laugh

02:30:51 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so the dog scared the crap out of him. So what did he do?

02:31:00 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 5:

He threw the package on the porch and ran back to him.

02:31:06 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, your dog almost bit him. I would have done the same thing, too.

02:31:10 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 5:

Heck yeah. Yeah, she's a big dog, too.

02:31:13 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 3:

What kind of dog you got?

02:31:15 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 5:

Silver Lab. And what's her name? Molly.

02:31:18 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 3:

Poor Molly. i always wondered about that with like these you know i don't know postal people uh drivers that work for amazon or whatever like you got people that just have their dogs and cats and stuff like

02:31:30 - 02:31:45 | Speaker 4:

that out in front of the house dude i don't know what it is about my dog my dog is so like afraid of everything except the mailman and if she could murder she would really oh she frees out the mailman

02:31:45 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 3:

Coraline doesn't like the mailman.

02:31:46 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 4:

Hates the mailman. I've never seen her act like that ever before. Has the mailman ever stepped inside? No. Has she ever interacted with the mailman? Absolutely not. Does the mailman also carry dog treats for all of the other nice dogs in the neighborhood? Mm-hmm. But for some reason, my dog is out to kill that guy.

02:32:04 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 3:

Does Coraline get a treat from the mailman or because Coraline's acting up, she doesn't get a treat?

02:32:10 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 4:

That dog is demonic when a mailman is around.

02:32:14 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 3:

Listen to this one. And Tanisha, what did the delivery driver do?

02:32:18 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 6:

He came and delivered my packages on the front door. He placed them on the porch, but then he walked around the back of the house and he peed in my trees. No, oh my God. I was like, where is he going? Because I caught the whole thing on camera and he literally peed. And then he did like a little hip dance back and forth. So he was making circles with him.

02:32:37 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 4:

That was probably the only one he had all day.

02:32:40 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 2:

You got to send that video to us. That's priceless. That's awesome. When he stops by my house, does the Amazon driver think, this house again?

02:32:51 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 6:

You can just leave it at the door. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:56 - 02:32:59 | Speaker 5:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

02:32:59 - 02:33:27 | Speaker 3:

All right, time now for second date update. If you are not getting a call back from somebody that you have gone out on a date with, text DATE to 95500 and we will get you on the show. Mojo in the Morning Show. So here's the deal. We're trying to figure out why Joey is not getting a call back. Joey? Good morning. Good morning. So how did you guys meet, Joey?

02:33:28 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 1:

We met. We went on a date. We went on a date together. We got drinks. Okay. It was really good. Vibes were really high. Yeah. And, yeah, it was a good date. and I just, I assumed there was going to be a second one, but she just has not answered me, so.

02:33:48 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Were you guys talking for a while before you guys had gone out?

02:33:53 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 1:

You know, not like too long, just like a week. You know, you've matched on an app and then you talk for a week or so and then you go out and usually it's either good or bad and if it's good, I imagine you get answered at least.

02:34:07 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 3:

So were you not getting answered right away, so it must not have been good to her?

02:34:12 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 1:

It was not right away that she didn't answer me. We were texting for a little bit, and then she just dropped.

02:34:20 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Because then it wasn't necessarily what happened on the date. Maybe it's just that she got busy with stuff. We'll find out what's going on. Because I always say that if you get blown off right away, they're not interested. They either didn't like what they saw or didn't like what they did. We'll figure it out. On the phone with us right now is Andrea. Andrea, are you cool with talking to Joey right now? Uh, sure. Will you say hello to him? Hello.

02:34:50 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Andrea.

02:34:53 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Andrea. Joey was talking to us about how you guys matched and then went out.

02:35:00 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 1:

and now you're not talking to him. What's going on? What's the story?

02:35:05 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, I did talk to him. I texted him.

02:35:10 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 1:

You texted him that you didn't want another date or didn't want to talk or you were busy, or what did you text? Because he said that you've gone dark on him.

02:35:23 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I did message him, though, a little bit, I think.

02:35:29 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, talk to us about what you messaged him. What did you message him?

02:35:35 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 5:

I don't really remember.

02:35:39 - 02:35:40 | Speaker 1:

You don't remember?

02:35:40 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 4:

Can you go back and look?

02:35:41 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 1:

Joey, what did she message you?

02:35:45 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, she was just, she, you know, she just sort of just fell off. It was a good conversation. I mean, you know, we were just talking like normal. I was talking about maybe going on a second date. and then one day she just, you know, didn't answer me and I just assumed that I was getting ghosted, you know, which kind of stinks because we were having, we had a great time and I thought the vibe was really good. So I figured there might have been a reason. So I'm trying to find out why you might not have answered me.

02:36:20 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 4:

So something happened after the date, I take it.

02:36:26 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 2:

That's what I think. Is that the case, Andrea?

02:36:28 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 4:

Because if you're texting him right after the date, but then all of a sudden stop. Yeah. What happened there?

02:36:37 - 02:37:04 | Speaker 5:

Okay. So I was at the gym. And I was in the sauna. And I was telling one of my friends about him. And I showed her his picture. and she recognized him. She said that he's married to her second cousin. What?

02:37:06 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 1:

Are you married, Joey?

02:37:09 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 2:

I am not. I am not married. I am adamantly not. I mean, technically, yes, but I'm separated. I'm not married. First of all, I honestly don't think your friend has any business saying all that to you about me. but I'm not married.

02:37:25 - 02:37:30 | Speaker 1:

Her friend knows obviously that you're a married guy. You're a married guy?

02:37:32 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 2:

Yes. I mean, I am on paper married but I am in the process of moving out. I'm not in a relationship with anyone. If I was, I wouldn't be going on dates.

02:37:44 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 1:

You don't live with her though.

02:37:47 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm in the process of moving out.

02:37:49 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 1:

Are you guys divorcing or what are you doing?

02:37:52 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 2:

That is the intention, yes. I mean, I'm sure you can understand it's more complicated.

02:38:00 - 02:38:04 | Speaker 4:

I get why she wanted to walk away from the situation. Yep.

02:38:05 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 1:

Did you talk about, or let me ask Andrea. Andrea, did he talk about that he was married?

02:38:12 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 5:

No, this was a complete shock to me.

02:38:17 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 1:

Did he talk at all about his life and what his life was and where he lived and who he lives with?

02:38:23 - 02:38:30 | Speaker 5:

No, I mean, it was just a first date. Do we have to? Is that something you got to disclose?

02:38:30 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, I think if you're a married guy and you're still living with your ex, I would assume that you would sit there and say, yeah, I'm kind of going through this right now and say something. Just like if you just went through a divorce or a big breakup, I think people want to know what stories, I mean, I think when you're on a first date, you don't talk about what your life is all about. You don't talk about what's going on.

02:38:50 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 3:

Not the marriage stuff. Here's the thing. I was totally on his side. I have seen so many divorces take years. And I think people move on and they're ready for the next step in their life. Whatever. But as soon as this guy said, I'm in the process of moving out, I said, nope, I don't have your back too soon. You cannot, you can't do that.

02:39:13 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 4:

See, and I think that this is something that you talk about on a first date. because i think that that's a bit of information that's really important and i like that's also a question that i would ask right away like have you ever been married before have you like do you have kids like those are all important bits of information to me so i think that that was definitely something that you should have shared and by the way like it could have cleared up this whole conversation and situation by you saying i'm in the process of divorce it's taking forever Or, you know, I don't think you have to give all the dirty details, but I do think because then then this happens and people are like, oh, wait, he's married, dude. But if she doesn't ask and by him just voluntarily giving that information, it can cause some extreme problems.

02:40:00 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 3:

But if he's at a point where he's definitely over his on paper wife and he's ready to move on, then if it's going to prevent him from having the ability to move on by telling him he's married, he's never going to be happy.

02:40:13 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 2:

But I don't know that he is. We have the intention of divorcing. I'm in the process of moving out. Dana, true. I don't know.

02:40:23 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 1:

Andrea, does this make you not want to go out with him again, even if you found out that the wife was completely out of the picture? and it was just, they were roommates?

02:40:31 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 5:

It just seems really complicated.

02:40:35 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 1:

And you just don't want to get involved in the messiness of what's going on right now?

02:40:39 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it just doesn't seem like a lot of fun. I'm sorry, I didn't want to make a big deal out of this.

02:40:45 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 1:

Angie wants to make a comment. What's up, Angie?

02:40:48 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning.

02:40:49 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 1:

Morning. What's going on, second date update?

02:40:51 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 8:

I'm not really sure why this guy would want to bring his drama into an innocent place. And that's what's going on right now.

02:40:59 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, turn your radio down, please. Whoever's got the radio up.

02:41:02 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 9:

Got it.

02:41:04 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Is that Angie or is that Joey or Andrea that did that? Angie, turn your radio down. Angie. So you don't know why he would want to bring somebody else into the complication. Maybe he needs a little time to himself before he starts dating?

02:41:21 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. You don't bring an innocent person into a party when you haven't cleaned out your old baggage. Don't bring bad into new.

02:41:32 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 1:

Good point. Tina, what's up?

02:41:36 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 9:

Mojo, that would have been a deal breaker for me because you're technically still in the house with your wife. Don't put me in the middle of your shenanigans. And once you leave the marriage, then we could think about talking or whatever. But he was 100% wrong. He should have told her and let her decide if she wanted to deal with him or not.

02:42:03 - 02:42:07 | Speaker 1:

So he should have brought this up while they were on their very first date. So she had a way to make it.

02:42:08 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 9:

Yes, because let me tell you something. People are crazy. And just say, for instance, the wife is not feeling what he's feeling. I want to see what it popped up on them On their date And acted that crazy On this woman And this woman had no idea Of what the freaking was going on

02:42:27 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I get it Does he bring it up while they're talking on the app Or does he wait to the date Because all I'm hearing is he should have said it on a date But we're not even talking about the fact That they were talking about it to the date

02:42:39 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 1:

I think Andrea you probably think before the date too right You think he should have said something to you while you guys were just texting

02:42:44 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 5:

I just don't think he should be dating if he's still living with his wife.

02:42:50 - 02:42:52 | Speaker 1:

That's a good point. Lynn, what's up? Lynn, what do you think?

02:42:53 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 6:

I 100% agree with her. He should not be, one, trying to date while he's still in the process of moving out. It's like you can't be alone for two seconds. That's a big red flag in and of itself. It's like take the time to figure your crap out, heal from it, and then you can enter into a new relation. and ship in a healthier place.

02:43:15 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 1:

See, that's an evolved woman talking. Everybody ain't that evolved, though. Marissa, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Are you an evolved woman, Marissa?

02:43:23 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, Mojo. How are you?

02:43:26 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Second date update.

02:43:28 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so I'm listening right now, and I actually married the married-separated guy.

02:43:35 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. So you weren't so involved, were you?

02:43:40 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 7:

After ghosting him for a month, And he was very persistent, and we ended up going on another date. He did end up getting divorced, and we have been married now for six and a half years.

02:43:52 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 1:

What advice are you going to give Andrea right now?

02:43:56 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 7:

Maybe give him a second chance. I mean, he was married. They were separated. They were living together, and I trusted him, and it worked out. We're actually due with our second baby in a month.

02:44:08 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 2:

Marissa, when did he tell you that that was his situation? so i knew he was married okay um i knew that's a big difference like you got to make that decision

02:44:18 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 7:

before you decided to go out with him that's true yeah i think he definitely should have been up front about that um maybe he was worried it would have ended in her not talking to him because i did ghost my now husband for a month when i just wasn't feeling good about it you know you're like i have morals this seems wrong so maybe andrea give it a little bit of time before

02:44:41 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 1:

you throw it completely away unless you don't really feel it at all i mean

02:44:48 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 5:

i just i don't know he's being like really defensive about it too

02:44:55 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

hey you guys will at least have common friends the person

02:45:00 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 2:

that was in the sauna with you or wherever you were. I don't know. By the way, how do you just sit there and start showing? You guys should go. Was it a sauna that you were in?

02:45:10 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:45:11 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Just showing pictures. Let me show you the guy I went out with. Oh, my God. That's my cousin's husband. I would have been like, I'm out of the sauna. This place is getting hotter. All right.

02:45:21 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.
