The World Cup is underway, and it's been incredible. On our podcast, The Away End, with Daniel Alarcon and John Green, we're talking about the games that have delighted us, the teams that have inspired us, what we're loving, and what surprised us, all through the lens of being massive fans of the world's most beautiful game.

00:01:46 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 6:

Daniel, this tournament has been magical so far. There's so much to love, and I can hardly believe the drama that the group stage brought us. And now it's time for us to talk about the teams that are left as the field is whittled down to one World Cup champion on July 19th.

00:02:43 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 3:

00:02:48 - 00:03:25 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:25 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 3:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show guess what guys we are just one day away from never having to play a political ad again

00:03:48 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to the Secret Service who I yelled at this morning

00:03:51 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 3:

Or how about not getting one of those robo-text calls, huh?

00:03:59 - 00:04:01 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I spoke too soon I got those texts all weekend

00:04:01 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 3:

I know, they heard you They heard you Oh, thank you, Jesus

00:04:07 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 2:

They were doing it during the game, too And I was like, you should do some research on the phone numbers you're buying And, like, don't do it during the game

00:04:14 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think doing that right there just lost you a vote I mean, come on, what are you doing? And then the worst part is, the worst part is that you'll get those things, and you'll get them, and you put the junk on it, and then the same number comes up a second later, and you're like, I don't think my phone does junk. I like to put the junk on it.

00:04:33 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 8:

I was getting them from businesses that I, like, if I got one more from Marlene at the Motown Museum in Detroit, I was like, you have now been blocked.

00:04:41 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:04:41 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 8:

Be blocked, be blessed. Come on, Marlene. Be blocked and be blessed.

00:04:45 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You know what? But it used to be you stuff your mailbox full of things. Now they don't stuff the mailbox with those little mailers because Megan stopped looking at her mail. That's the problem. I blame you.

00:04:57 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

What genuinely makes me sad, though, like as a person.

00:05:00 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 6:

person who's weird about the planet uh i'm like at least send me the text stop wasting the ink and the paper and the shiny little film in the photo like i i'm not gonna check it the whole thing

00:05:09 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 5:

goes right in my garbage that whole pile of crap the direct mailers goes i don't even look at it

00:05:15 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 6:

i have not opened my mailbox in over a month yeah crazy and by the way i live in 2024 what year are you living in everything goes to my email and of course since we just had this

00:05:26 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 1:

conversation legally we have to mojo in the morning is responsible for the content of this

00:05:30 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 2:

conversation there you go um all right mojo in the morning show i had parents weekend at michigan state this weekend uh got a chance to hang out with luke go to the game it was fun we had a good time the game obviously didn't bode well for the spartans but the first like 10 minutes of the game was good um it was a beautiful day i i have to ask a question and this is to guys are there any guys listening to the show right now i know we got a lot of truckers where the truckers at right now where my guys at huh i know we also have some women that are truckers too shout out to you love you um i'm right now banned from something and this really is kind of sad for me because i feel like i am a very responsible human being i mean look at me look how good i look i'm a manly guy i got my gun showing this morning okay dan campbell got my line i know i see you all these women that love dan campbell it's like you know what screw that you need to flabby campbell like you need flab campbell like daddy campbell daddy campbell there you go i like that yeah so i have been officially banned from driving by my wife i am not allowed to drive so we went up to to east lansing you know chelsea and i have luke that's a sophomore but also chelsea's best friend since third grade uh leah and her husband dennis are also in town uh too they have max who is also a sophomore it's kind of a cool story that you know these two grew up together and then their kids also kind of grew up as friends and they both go to michigan state together so they drove with us to east lansing and my wife would not let me drive my own chevy tahoe from gordon chevrolet

00:07:15 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 5:

And why?

00:07:16 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Because she told me that I'm not a good driver, but then also proceeded to tell me that Leah and Dennis say they get car sick when I'm driving.

00:07:27 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. What was the lie?

00:07:30 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, so, exactly, so? Then drive your own car. But I'm not allowed to drive my car. Do you get car sick when I'm driving my car? Yes. I'm a bad driver?

00:07:39 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 6:

You're a horrific driver. A horrific driver. And I say that so lovingly. But one time I was following you and I can't do that. Well, I wasn't living here at the time and you didn't tell me where we were going. You just said, follow me. And then you ran red lights.

00:07:55 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 3:

How is that a bad? How is that a bad driver? Because I'm getting there fast.

00:08:01 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 5:

The lack of shock and awe in this room when you said you weren't allowed to drive your own car is horrible. No, there's none because we all get it.

00:08:11 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do you understand?

00:08:12 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 4:

First, thank you, Kev. Go ahead. So two things. To me, you drive like an Uber driver. I think you drive extremely slow and you take wide turns. But I have been in situations where you've been like a bit distracted and then you look up and you realize there's about to be a red light and that's where you speed through.

00:08:32 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 5:

See, I would say you're not aware of how bad his driving is because you're always on your phone.

00:08:36 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 2:

That's true.

00:08:38 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 5:

You don't know.

00:08:39 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 2:

He fights me for the aux cord all the time. You have to. He's like, now he's got a full-on Bluetooth setting in my car, which is unbelievable.

00:08:47 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 6:

I think if you look in the last row of his car, you can see my fingernail from what I was trying to hold on and stay in my seat as he whips through turns.

00:08:56 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

I have a problem. By the way, what's the phone number? I almost gave out the old number. 313-298-9595. That's not the number anymore. It's 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665. 6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500. Be careful. calling and driving at the same time because i don't want you to get in an accident but let's look at my record i have a clean bill of health knock on wood i've got no accidents i've got no tickets thank you ticketfixpro.com pays to know people i uh i've got uh i've got a good record and honestly the whole you know you uh make me sick for first off i'm an incredible parallel parker i swear to god like i i would when i'm parallel parking i know exactly how to parallel park i never have to go in out in out in out i'm not by the way you know what you are you you by the way are a dirty mfer that's what she said

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 1:

I actually can do it all in one fell swoop I can get into Keep going

00:10:06 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

If you know what I'm doing

00:10:09 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 1:

So I can get in and out of parking spots At the mall Without having to Move it around A little bit too much But this is the part that bothers me I told my buddies this I was on the phone yesterday with like three guys We were talking about how great that Lions game was And we're having a conversation And one of my friends says to me He goes Well you cannot sit in the passenger seat If Chelsea's driving And I said why is that And he goes Because it makes you look like a non-man And I go what She's like emasculating or demasculating What is the word

00:10:44 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 2:

Which one is it

00:10:45 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 1:

Is it emasculating

00:10:46 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 2:

I like yeah That's the one I feel like I hear more frequently

00:10:49 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 1:

So they

00:10:50 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Which means it's probably more wrong

00:10:52 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 1:

He says It's making me look like I'm not a man So he says you have to sit in the back seat because then people will think it's an Uber.

00:11:01 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 3:

I hate that, that women can't drive or it looks emasculating to men. Why?

00:11:08 - 00:11:12 | Speaker 1:

Because we're guys. I mean, I don't know. I mean, I'm not a guy's guy.

00:11:12 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Why do men have higher car insurance rates? Because y'all get more accidents? Are you sure that that's the facts?

00:11:18 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 2:

Probably because we drive more.

00:11:20 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 3:

Did you talk to Jake from State Farm about that? Risk-taking behaviors. Yeah, yeah.

00:11:24 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 1:

Really? I didn't know that. Women have... By the way, again... This is something that we need to fix in this world. That's bad. I know more women that get in accidents than men. Jordan, are you there?

00:11:39 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. So I was trying to figure out who said I was going to be on. You lost me so fast on your side. First off, Mojo.

00:11:48 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:11:49 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 6:

Brad means stop. Brad means go. You learned this in school.

00:11:56 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 1:

Come on.

00:11:56 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 6:

And you had, as soon as someone said, oh, you ride red lights, you didn't even deny it. You're just like, yeah, so? The one. What's wrong with that? Do it, do it, do it, do it, do it.

00:12:10 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I don't think that I do what Megan says I do. I think I just try to get through them faster, because who wants to sit there at a red light that you know isn't meaningless?

00:12:19 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 3:

Excuse me, call me the one from now on, please.

00:12:23 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 6:

Wait, I'm going to defend you, Megan. so i would say she's lying but nobody else in the room called her out like said she's wrong

00:12:33 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 3:

why would you just automatically assume i was lying

00:12:36 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 1:

megan i don't think we're lying i think she's lying yeah listen i i think that i

00:12:44 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 4:

am a fine driver hi rob how you doing fantastic hey stop posting about yourself and let others

00:12:51 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 1:

do it for you wait come on that you think this is a good thing don't you think it makes me look bad if i'm the guy that pulls up in front of people's homes to hang out with them and they see me

00:13:00 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 5:

getting out of the passenger seat that's fantastic it's but let others boast for you it's a much more of a humbling thing i know and a much more fulfilling thing so who should i have to both

00:13:12 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 1:

who do i know that boasts for me about my driving nobody well maybe your kids yeah that's true i Actually, I don't think my kids mind it so much. I'll call.

00:13:22 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Are your kids a good drivers?

00:13:23 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 1:

I'll call them on allowance day. Joe is actually a very slow driver. Jacob is actually a very careful driver. Luke is a horrible driver. He's his dad. Oh, yeah.

00:13:35 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 3:

Does Jacob drive often? I feel like.

00:13:37 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 1:

Now he does because he has to commute for work. Oh. Yeah. But Jacob is like 10 and 2 the whole way. He's like very particular and stuff. He doesn't let you do anything in his car. you can't eat in his car you can't roll his windows down like he's he's very particular

00:13:52 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 7:

what's up laura hello hi hi so my friends hate my driving also i'm not allowed to drive just recently went on vacation with a bunch of them to tennessee and i sat in the back seat of my own car while somebody else drove you're that have you been in a lot of accidents i haven't had an accident in 25 or 30 years. Oh, knock on wood right now.

00:14:16 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, we're not, yeah.

00:14:18 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 7:

One speeding ticket, I mean.

00:14:20 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

Do they think that you're just a really careless driver or what is the story?

00:14:24 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 7:

I just go too fast and just, they just don't think I, they don't think I pay attention as much as I should, I think.

00:14:31 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, all right. See, I don't like that, man. When people tell you you speed, that's one of the things I hate because I'm in control. What's fast to you may not be fast to me. Yeah, and it's your car.

00:14:42 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

it's not that it's more like my brother drives at a speed that is so insane that even if somebody else messes up and he's not in the wrong somebody else makes a mistake we die you're going fast enough to kill everybody in the car George is a trucker George what would you

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 1:

do if your wife did this i love when my wife drives me around so like i'm being chauffeured

00:15:05 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 4:

around you do but it's because you're driving all throughout the week yeah yeah i mean i drive

00:15:10 - 00:15:21 | Speaker 1:

i mean i drive 500 miles a day so after working all day long when my wife says hey let's go somewhere i'm like you drive it go ahead i enjoy it interesting i like that zach what's up it's

00:15:21 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 5:

00:15:39 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 4:

the passenger princess uh is that pretty much what i'm what i am when i'm

00:15:45 - 00:15:57 | Speaker 5:

in the back seat and chelsea's driving i don't know about being put in the back seat but yeah Yeah, I mean, you get to stretch back, you know, stretch your leg and just kind of relax for a minute.

well some sad dirty we got yesterday james vanderbeek has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer the dawson's creek alum shared that news yesterday saying that despite the diagnosis there's reason for optimism, said he's feeling good, and he said he has been privately dealing with the diagnosis for quite some time and has been taking the steps to battle it. I forgot that

00:20:40 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 2:

this was the theme song. Was it Paula Cole? This is a great song.

00:20:45 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 3:

And by the way, according to the American Cancer Society, I think it's important to note colorectal cancer symptoms include blood in your stool, some abdominal pain, bloating, unexplained weight loss, vomiting, fatigue. Obviously he was experiencing some of those symptoms which prompted him to go to the doctor and get checked out very very important i met him at a couple of the

00:21:03 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 2:

little like press junkety things that we would do like when we did the radio music awards and uh i forget what i mean i heard festival he's been to was a very nice guy nicest guy in the whole world is a very nice guy let's hope that he pulls through and colon cancer is a scary thing i've lost too many people to colon cancer so please you know get your uh if you're of the age and they should do it younger. I know they wait until, I think you're like, I don't know, even what, late 40s or 50s or something like that to go get. Aren't they trying to go over that? Yeah. They need to. The insurance companies are awful to not do it. Talk about it. But you need to go get your colonoscopies.

00:21:39 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 1:

Question real quick. You said Dawson's Creek, right? Yeah. Is he Dawson? He was. Yeah.

00:21:44 - 00:21:52 | Speaker 3:

So it was Jonathan, or Joshua Jackson. It was Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams. That show, yeah.

00:21:52 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Is he Dawson though? I believe so, right? Wasn't he? I didn't watch that show.

00:21:56 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 1:

I didn't watch. I know the song. That was, like you said, I was a banger, but I never watched the show. He looked like the lead dude, so I thought he was Dawson.

00:22:02 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:22:03 - 00:22:04 | Speaker 1:

Sorry, just random. He was also in, yeah.

00:22:04 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 3:

He was also in Varsity Blues. He was in, like, a ton of stuff. You know who I always get him confused with? Zach from Saved by the Bell. Really? Yeah.

00:22:12 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 1:

You don't think they look alike? They got a big square. He does. Yeah, he does look like him.

00:22:16 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes, he was Dawson Leary from WB's Dawson's Creek. I'm looking at his whole thing here. He was on Walker, Texas Ranger, too. Now, that's a show. I did not know. That was a great show.

00:22:27 - 00:22:28 | Speaker 3:

Never seen that show.

00:22:28 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 2:

What? Oh, my God.

00:22:29 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean? What?

00:22:31 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm just saying. Channel 49.

00:22:34 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 3:

You know what I'm saying? You're not a Chuck.

00:22:35 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 2:

You're not a Chuck Norris. I just couldn't do everything. Bro, what?

00:22:39 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 3:

Some happy news. A big congratulations to Margot Robbie. She gave birth to her first child with her husband, Tom Ackerley. They welcomed a baby boy. I don't have any name details for you just yet. Jamie Foxx's Netflix special, What Happened Was, now has a premiere date. And this is when we are finally going to get some details about that mysterious illness that caused him to be hospitalized last year.

00:23:03 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 1:

I said, if I can stay funny, I can stay alive.

00:23:13 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm back. December 10th and Netflix is where you're going to see that. And this is kind of crazy. See, there's been just shy, you guys, of $1 billion spent on political ads up and down the ballot in the past week, according to data from that ad tracking firm, Ad Impact, $1 billion in one week. The most expensive race, no surprise, the presidential race, where more than $272 million has been spent on ads.

00:23:39 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 2:

I see the Slotkin commercials all the time. She's got to be running a ton of them.

00:23:43 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 3:

So three Senate races have drawn more than $30 million each. In the past week alone, Ohio being one of them, and Michigan is in that next tier with more than $23 million in spending in the past seven days.

00:23:56 - 00:24:11 | Speaker 2:

What did I read this morning? I read something this morning about Michigan that today, today alone, you may be inundated in one day with more political ads than ever were run in the last presidential election.

00:24:11 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 3:

Has anybody ever changed their mind 24 hours before voting?

00:24:15 - 00:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, I wonder if people go the opposite way.

00:24:18 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 3:

No, I am actually asking that question. Like, has something at the very last minute caused you to go, I'm actually switching my vote?

00:24:23 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. You know, that's an interesting thing to bring up. But I will say this to you. I think that sometimes you can run too many. I worry that people just go, enough already. You know what I mean? Yep. Or it just makes you so fed up with the process. I hope it doesn't ever discourage people to not want to go out and vote.

00:24:40 - 00:24:45 | Speaker 3:

This is a very scary situation happened to her. I'm going to have her bring that up coming up here in just a second. And I also want to tell you while I'm doing that, that I'll have a big contest announcement coming up here in just a little bit, too. So it's Mojo in the morning show. So, Megan, very scary situation happened to you.

00:34:08 - 00:34:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:34:09 - 00:34:10 | Speaker 2:

Explain what happened.

00:34:10 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

It was on Saturday. And I'm really grateful that there was so much going on downtown this weekend. It was packed with people, man. there was a a red wings game and then uh steve martin and martin short were performing i believe they were at the fox there's another comedian i forget his name off the top of my head he's on that bff podcast um that was at the film war and like there were just a ton of people near grand circus park and i was out walking my dog and we were on like a really long walk thank god i just needed to get out of my apartment for a little bit and there were people everywhere and kind of Over by Grand Circus Park area, there's a lot of people that just kind of stand around and hang out near that statue. I don't know what that statue is, but there's always people just like hanging out over there, playing music, whatever. And nine...

00:35:00 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 3:

We're 10 interactions out of 10 because this is like the first time it's ever happened. The people there are like, they shout out and they talk to you. Nicest guys in the entire world. Like the funniest people ever. And I love walking over there, which is why I specifically went to that area. I knew there was going to be people and it was just a fun space to be in. Well, I'm walking my dog and this guy starts walking next to me. And I'm a little bit like, I have an Italian greyhound. So it's a greyhound shrunk down to a little space, but she likes to move. When we walk, it is a fast paced walk. We are not strolling and taking our time. We are moving. So I know if somebody is matching my pace, like you're putting an effort to keep up with me. That's not like a normal walking pace. And this guy starts coming next to me and he goes, what kind of a dog is that? I get kind of nervous because my dog is kind of rare. And we've heard about dog nappings a lot lately with like Frenchies and stuff. My dog breed gets stolen too. So I don't love talking about her. Usually I'll lie and be like, she's a miniature pincher or something. um and then people always ask me like how much did that dog cost and that makes me uncomfortable because now you're trying to size up is this worth stealing and so he's following me around and then he goes do you live down here and I was like no and he goes what's your name and I go Hillary I'm just lying my ass off to this guy well my dog starts pulling towards the park to go to the bathroom so I'm like cool I'm gonna take her in she's gotta go potty we'll go back to my apartment i'll try to ditch this guy and i'm thinking if i just like quickly turn it into this park it's going to be either really obvious that he's following me or not obvious or like maybe he's just going on his way and this is a weird coincidence and i like go to the right go into the park and he follows me and then stands next to me while the dog is trying to go to the bathroom wow and i now go like red alert this is not great he's following me around he's staying next to me he's trying to ask me personal questions and I'm uncomfortable but thankfully I'm in a super populated area so I'm not like alone with this guy there's people everywhere now I'm trying to lock eyes with people and it's Saturday night downtown nobody's trying to get stopped by a stranger everybody's on their way to do something and nobody's looking at me nobody's making eye contact nobody's anything and I went oh I think my dog needs to run and I just bolt off with my dog And I cut into a store and the store was like, you can't have dogs in here. And I was like, there's a guy following me. And the guy was like, just stand by the door. And he totally let me wait there for a few minutes until I couldn't see this guy anymore. But it was, it was crazy. It was the first time I've been living downtown now for over a year. This is the first time that I've ever been like, I'm uncomfortable. I've never once felt unsafe. I have never once felt like I was being followed. And this was the first time where I was like, that made me really uncomfortable.

00:37:48 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 1:

Did you think about calling the police and try to describe them or to say what's going on?

00:37:57 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 3:

No. Thankfully, I think if I would have turned around, there was a ton of police in front of the Fox in the film war. Okay. Because they were directing traffic and security and stuff.

00:38:05 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if he would have followed you if he saw those cops there.

00:38:09 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

Maybe, because there were so many people you can say, I wasn't following her. I was just walking this direction. It was kind of weird like that, but I have an app on my phone. that I just canceled a week ago.

00:38:20 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 2:

I was just going to ask you, why didn't you just push the, what's it called again? It's called Noonlight. That's right.

00:38:24 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you got to get it back then.

00:38:26 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, it costs $5 a month and I've never once needed it.

00:38:30 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, the one time, I'm telling you.

00:38:33 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 3:

You should be free.

00:38:34 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 1:

Think about the stuff that you do spend money on. That's a big, important thing.

00:38:38 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:38:39 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 1:

I wonder how that, have you ever tried to press that thing when you had it just to see if it works?

00:38:42 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, accidentally, I've done it twice. I remember I was at Levis Cummins in Perrysburg for a work event and it was in my back pocket my butt called it and the cops showed up within four minutes that's great that's worth five bucks a month yeah no it works it's scary you know this is a really scary

00:38:57 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 1:

thing um it's scary to think that you're being followed and i always feel like you know that sometimes it's like oh come on you can discount it and say well the person's just driving where i'm driving or walking where i'm walking but for this guy to purposely walk up and start talking to you and do that and i know it's weird that nowadays you can't even just like have a conversation with somebody but if you're making somebody feel uncomfortable you almost need to be able to say to to be able to say say listen i'm not really comfortable with you talking to me i wonder you know and because i think there are times where guys will even women do this sometimes to guys um or to other women they'll like come up and get like too much in your space yes you know i agree

00:39:38 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 2:

it can be female to female too absolutely i think a lot of times especially at night i don't want to anger a man who already has boundary issues i was just gonna say i understand where you're coming from by saying that mojo but i would be too scared to say that correct yeah correct well

00:39:54 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

you don't want to piss anybody off you just want to get out of there it's it's so funny i used to make fun of one of chelsea's friends who carried on her key chain a thing of mace i'm gonna tell you something i don't make fun of that anymore nowadays because everybody's so you know crazy these days and i always feel like man i would have that freaking thing in my hand well be ready to go was the last

00:40:15 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 4:

two events that i went to at lca it was confiscated at the door really yes the mace yeah so they'll take it pretty much any door person who's like going they don't want it inside they don't want

00:40:24 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 1:

it inside they take it from you but going on those walks it's almost like that needs to be there with

00:40:28 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 4:

doggy duty bags i don't like that because getting to and from lca can be scary kind of scary what's

00:40:36 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 3:

up holly how you doing good morning guys how are you good what's going on so i actually had the same thing happened to me last night as megan i was out walking my dog and uh this gentleman in the car claimed he was a uber eats delivery guy um but he was following like 10 feet behind me in the car asked me what my name was what kind of dog I had um thankfully I had pepper spray on my keychain um and I just started screaming wow what did he do he ended up just driving away um I just started screaming so hopefully like someone in my apartment complex would hear me uh obviously no one came out to help but um yeah he ended up just driving away but it was very very scary yeah I

00:41:27 - 00:41:31 | Speaker 4:

worry about the bystander effect with that where everybody assumes somebody

00:41:31 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 1:

else is going to help so nobody helps well it's what we hear when we get car alarms going off in parking lots right yeah everybody what I mean I feel like the one thing that does not ever work is the car alarm beeping it just becomes the annoying thing that's beeping in a parking lot see what's up what's going

00:41:50 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 2:

on this is uh see I called a couple months back this is the guy in love with against the police officer so i'm kind of irritated by this story what do you i'm sorry to explain who are you see i called a couple months back uh i was the guy in love with megan and so this story kind of irritates me so i'm a police officer so you are gonna have high alert yeah we're gonna have high alert around wherever megan is she's gonna get personal security

00:42:14 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 1:

where are you a police officer i'm a wayne county sheriff okay all right well then what do you suggest people do like what do you do in a case where somebody's following you here is my suggestion

00:42:27 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 2:

right mojo what's up guys what's up kev what up though here's my what up though here's my suggestion so it sounds crazy but in the middle in a matter of life and death every second counts right there are people died because every second count and you didn't have time to save them or you hesitated so my suggestion one of them would be when you're going out for a stroll take your pin number or your lock off of your phone because while you're walking you may not have time to dial four five six seven eight nine ten as a pin code you can just dial nine one one it's quicker

00:43:06 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 4:

right you can also use the buttons on the sides of your phone though the alert push i never know

00:43:11 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 1:

which ones to push what do you push you can do what you just yeah yeah you're supposed to push

00:43:14 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 2:

yeah you just push them a bunch of times in the midst of pandemonium your mind is all over the place so you may not be able to do it you may be hitting volume up saying oh my god i'm calling 9-1-1 because the brain doesn't work well under stress if you're not able to control it and something like that when you're being followed take the pen off your phone make sure you're not on your phone and then um they're actually coming up with the app that was the reason i called they're coming up with the app how a lot of women can do two things at once like she's talking to you and texting her home girl she can say something like hey i'll be there at eight and it'll also show up to the police and let them get your location yeah the only thing is the danger in it the danger in

00:43:58 - 00:44:38 | Speaker 1:

it is they're gonna have your location well that makes sense well i oh the person is what do you mean who's gonna have the police option well that's no that's good for them to have it yeah you want them to have it megan's already got an app what's the app called megan noon light n-o-o-n like noon. Right, right. That sounds like a good one. Listen, I will say this to you, that I think that what you did was right going into a business, because I think going into that business was more alerting. Even the guy saying, hey, you can't bring dogs in here. You saying that to him, and the fact that you walked in with the dog, thank God that he didn't get pissy at all. No, he was great afterwards.

00:44:39 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 4:

Totally great. I'm very, very grateful to him. What's up, Shelly? Hey.

00:44:44 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:44:46 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 3:

So I just had a similar situation yesterday. I am a runner, and usually I run with my husband, but he's out of town, so I was running by myself, and whenever I run by myself, I always run mean roads, and I carry a blade with me, a siren. I'm, like, paranoid. I don't run with any earbuds or anything. And, of course, yesterday I get a weird feeling about this guy in a car. And, of course, as I pass him, he, like, starts yelling vulgarities out his window. So it's scary. It's scary being a female, like, alone anywhere. even like I live in a very safe small town. You can't trust anybody. Wait, what do

00:45:34 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 1:

you, you have a blade. What do you mean by that? Is it the ring?

00:45:37 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 3:

The ring that you wear? Yeah, yeah, it's the ring. That's so smart. If someone were to come up to me, like I like, it's protected on my finger, but if someone were to come up to me, if I you know, start fighting back. Yeah, yep, yep.

00:45:54 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 1:

It's scary. I mean, it's really scary and also guys become aware of when you're talking, I mean, honestly, like public places where there's not a lot of people around, that's the only person. It's probably not a great place to go and meet somebody. I don't know. It's sad that our society has become that, but it's honestly been that for a while, and you hear these stories all the time. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Do you remember Ellen, our old producer, Ellen? I saw her this weekend. Yeah, I saw that she was in town. When she told the story about, she called her mom, and her mom was like, I'm busy, or something like that. And she told this story. She was like walking in Royal Oak and this guy was following her. Remember that?

00:46:29 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I do remember this story.

00:46:30 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 1:

And her mom was like, yeah, I'm busy right now. But it's like, it's scary to call, you know, what's her mom going to do? Her mom was living in Buffalo. It's like she's so far away. You almost, that app is such a good thing to have to be able to alert people. I want to announce the contest here during this time. Can I do that, Lydia? Are you okay with that?

00:46:49 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you can probably pick a couple of contestants if you're cool with that.

00:46:52 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I'm going to change the schedule up a little bit, but it is time now to announce a contest that I think quite possibly might be one of the better contests that we've ever come up with to give away concert tickets. I mean, we can give concert tickets away when we do to color number 95, but why give away concert tickets to color number 95 when you can come up with fun names for contests like we have done on this radio show? And this one is one that adds to it. Please welcome our newest contest that will begin, will be on Wednesday. So Wednesday morning, which is the night of the Jelly Roll concert. It's Sniff My Hole for Jelly Roll. That is going to be the contest that we're going to be doing. And I don't know if everybody knows, but the person that's going to be sniffing the hole for Jelly Roll to decide who is going to win sold out tickets to go see Jelly Roll is none other than Kev from Kev Knows here. Do you guys know Kev Knows? Hi, Kev.

00:47:59 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm doing it? You didn't know that? I didn't. I think, well, I mean, it makes sense. I think this is the worst contest ever. Why do you think it's so disgusting, bro? Because you got to do the sniffing. No, it ain't because I got to do it. That adds to the level of disgust, but just the name smelling somebody whole, like, are you serious, bro? But here's the thing.

00:48:17 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 1:

It's not the whole that you think. It's not the whole that you think.

00:48:20 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 2:

It could be your ear hole. I don't want to smell nobody whole. No, no, no.

00:48:23 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 1:

We're going to go down a little bit. We're going to do their belly button. We're going to do their belly button, Kevin. Bro, that is disgusting. How is that disgusting?

00:48:33 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 2:

Do you want to smell somebody's belly button? He smells his own. Honestly, he's the only person I know that admits that he smells his belly button. Well, you do. You've got experience.

00:48:42 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 1:

I go in usually at the end of a long day. I like to go and kick the lint out of my belly button. You kick back with a nice bourbon and just dig away. I like to pick the lint right out of it. And then what I like to do is after I pick the lint out, I like to smell my fingers to see what my fingers smell like. And honestly, I kind of get a good high off of it It's like a great high

00:49:08 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 2:

Make sure you have the dumb button ready Why? No promises if I gotta smell somebody's belly button

00:49:14 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

So, Lydia, is it gonna be the person with the smelliest belly button? Or is Kev just pick it based on which one he wants? Like, how is it?

00:49:21 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 3:

I think it has to be the raunchiest belly button

00:49:24 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 1:

The raunchiest belly button wins So how do people raunch up their belly button? Is there a way to raunch them? Skip a couple shower days, I guess. You're no stranger to that, though. Yeah, Kevin, that's right. You know what a raunchy belly button smells like. You got me there, Lydia. Huh? I've known you to have a smelly belly button or two.

00:49:45 - 00:49:46 | Speaker 2:

You never smell me that close.

00:49:47 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

No, I could smell your belly button from over here right now. You didn't shower last night, did you? Okay. Did you shower? Yeah, I showered. You did not. I'm looking at you right now.

00:50:00 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 4:

You got a little greasy to the face there right now. That's the natural glow.

00:50:04 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 3:

Is that what it is? That's what that is. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. If you would like to be in studio with us on Wednesday to try to win this, and you're willing to let us call out your smell of your belly button, you can call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. That's the telephone number. Ken wants to be in this thing. Hi, Ken. How you doing, buddy? Good morning. Are we smelling it right now, Ken? I'm smelling it right now. Yes. What is it?

00:50:41 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 2:

Just like a sommelier doing the wine. Notes of what in that belly button today?

00:50:47 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 1:

It'd be like cottage cheese and margine.

00:50:49 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Ken, dog. Call my wife. She don't like that.

00:50:56 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 3:

Has your wife ever told you that you smell like this? She ever told you that there's anything on your body that is smell?

00:51:03 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 1:

She'll just, like, wave me off. So, you know, she won't say it, but she'll give me a wave with the hand.

00:51:08 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, like all, like, waving the smell, the bad smell away from her nose.

00:51:12 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:51:13 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right.

00:51:15 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 1:

So this should be fun for Ken.

00:51:16 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 3:

Ken, you're in this contest. Hang on one second, okay?

00:51:19 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

00:51:20 - 00:51:22 | Speaker 3:

All right. What's up, Peggy? Hi.

00:51:23 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Mojo, that is the most disgusting thing. Preach. I cannot believe.

00:51:28 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 3:

I was like, what's, come on. What?

00:51:32 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 2:

Send all complaints to our boss, Tony Travato, if you're offended. That's right. Because guess what? He came up with this contest. You talk to the PD. Who would think?

00:51:41 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 5:

I mean, come on, guys. That is disgusting. Listen, I love, I'm with Kevin. He's saying it's disgusting. You got that right.

00:51:50 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 3:

But you need to grow a sense of humor. You need a personality there, Peggy.

00:51:56 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I got a personality. It's not a pig.

00:51:59 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 3:

You know what that sounds like? It sounds like you're offended by this because you've got a smelly hole.

00:52:07 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 5:

I don't smell it. I wouldn't know. I just clean my body. That's all.

00:52:10 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 3:

Why don't you come into the studio and let us smell your belly button? Smell your hole for Jelly Roll.

00:52:15 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. I'll pass on that. That's disgusting.

00:52:19 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 3:

I want Peggy's coworkers today to smell her belly button for me, okay? And let me know how she smells.

00:52:26 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 5:

I'm retired now.

00:52:28 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay, then I want your kids and family. I want all the people that are around you. Call me up about Peggy, okay?

00:52:34 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 5:

If I would tell them now, they would say, my, you're disgusting. I'm going to mention it. I'm going to my daughter's right now.

00:52:41 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 3:

All right, you do me a favor. Lydia, get her daughter's number. I want to call her daughter and find out what her hole smells like. Alexis, are you there? Would you like to be part of this contest?

00:52:50 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes. As weird as it is, I do want to be a part of it.

00:52:53 - 00:52:57 | Speaker 3:

I love it. I love that. See that? Somebody's got a sense of humor this morning.

00:52:58 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:52:59 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 3:

And I'm sure that you've got a belly button that smells like roses.

00:53:04 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 6:

Well, yes.

00:53:06 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 4:

But we're going to change that.

00:53:07 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I like that attitude out of you. That's good.

00:53:09 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 4:

I mean, you never know. I may pick the most rosiest of the belly buttons. Obviously, I'm the one that's doing it, so it's going to be my rules when I got to smell.

00:53:18 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 3:

Are you an innie or outie guy? Do you like girls with innies or outies?

00:53:21 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 4:

I'm always preferring to go in.

00:53:23 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right. What do we have there, Alexis?

00:53:27 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 2:

I got an innie.

00:53:27 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right. Hang on one second. You're in the contest. So far, so good. Emma wants to be part of this contest. Look at all these women that want to be part of this contest. Hi, Emma.

00:53:37 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

00:53:38 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 3:

Emma, it is Smell My Hole for Jelly Roll, and you want to win a pair of tickets to the Sold Out Jelly Roll concert, which is Wednesday night at Little Caesars Arena.

00:53:48 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I do.

00:53:49 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

If I could ask you, what would your belly button smell like right now?

00:53:54 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 6:

right now it's kind of like morning breath before you break your teeth

00:54:00 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 3:

okay yeah don't clean inside okay make sure that you keep that thing looking good all right got it all right we love you for this thanks emma appreciate it where are you from yeah by the way this is some something that we love to do on our show and that's come up with great names for contests. What was it? First Direction for One Direction was one of the ones

00:54:28 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 6:

that we did. Beaver for Beaver. What was it again? Beaver for Beaver. Oh, that's right. Shave your Beaver for Beaver.

00:54:33 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Yes. But this one is perfect because it involves Kevin. Yeah. And I hope we have some first-time long-time belly holes that you're getting a chance to smell. Emma's on the phone! Oh, my God. How many belly holes are we talking about? What are we capping this at? Call as many people as you want to enter this contest. I want him smelling all Wednesday morning. Oh, Lord. You're tired of this election? This is going to be one way that you...

00:55:00 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 6:

You can actually enjoy a radio show that's not going to be worried about an election on Wednesday. We're going to be worried about belly holes. Here we go. Hey, what's up, y'all? This is Jelly Roll, and you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. I think Jelly Roll should come on the air with us on Wednesday to give Kev a little, you know, advice on how to smell. I bet you Jelly Roll's got a smelly belly button. I smell bunnies. That's his way. We'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning. We've got a huge announcement about Jingle Ball coming up. There's a huge addition that you're going to love next.

00:55:35 - 00:55:49 | Speaker 5:

Want tickets to Mojo's Jingle Ball? Presented by Capital One. Grab them in minutes. Then get ready for Jack Harlow, Teddy Swims, Jason Derulo, Sweetie, Madison Beer, and more. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:55:49 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 6:

We have a breaking dirty story. Lydia, breaking dirty story for you. Shannon, I'm sorry. I know this is your dirty. I will be smelling the belly holes because Kev does not want to. And I'm not going to beg somebody to do a fun contest. That's right. I will just do it myself. That's right. So I will be the person doing it. And I would like then Kevin to host it so that he can watch and be jealous over the fact that Ken from Commerce is going to get his belly hole smelled by me. and that I have no problem with smelling belly holes. I love that.

00:56:27 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 1:

One, I didn't know it was an option. I love that. And two, are we just going to have contestants come up to your mic?

00:56:31 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 6:

No, they're going to, I will, we will have Zach run the controls. Zach is a fine operator. He knows how to do this. Yes, what was, you had a question too?

00:56:40 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 4:

So my question is, like when women go to the department store and smell different perfumes, they provide you with a little like, like palate cleanser, like coffee beans or something in between so you don't get confused.

00:56:52 - 00:56:54 | Speaker 6:

I would like to have a palate cleanser.

00:56:54 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to bring something for you. Please. Can you? Thank you.

00:56:57 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 6:

I don't know what it would be, but whatever it might be, it might be something fun. I would like that. I would also, if I could, I would like, you know how when people do like wine tasting and stuff, they don't necessarily drink the wine. They spit it into a bucket. I would like a bucket for me to spit into just in case.

00:57:14 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 4:

Or vomit.

00:57:14 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 6:

Or vomit into. Yes, exactly.

00:57:17 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 4:

A Home Depot bucket. Spit in a hole. Why not? Okay. All right.

00:57:19 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 6:

So that is Wednesday morning Jelly Roll tickets. It is Smell My Hole for Jelly Roll, and we'll look for more contestants later this morning. Hi, Shannon.

00:57:28 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Okay, so some sad news this morning. Quincy Jones, the legendary music superstar who worked with, God, like everybody, from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson to Will Smith, made this song happen. He has passed away. His publicist said he died last night at his home in Bel Air, surrounded by his family. He was 91 years old. And you guys, two incredible things to note about him. He was a music school dropout. Crazy. Look what he went on to do. No one has been nominated or won more Grammys than Quincy Jones. 79 nominations, 27 actual statues. I got it. Crazy. Anybody watch SNL over the weekend? Yeah. So this year is so good, by the way. Yeah, Chaplin Road was a musical guest, and of course she was great. But there was a surprise appearance from Vice President Kamala Harris. She did a skit with Maya Rudolph, who has been impersonating her all season. They were staring at each other through like a dressing room mirror in a sketch that the internet noticed was very similar to one that former President Donald Trump did with Jimmy Fallon several years ago. But here's part of it.

00:58:41 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 3:

It's nice to see you, Kamala. And I'm just here to remind you, you got this because you can do something your opponent cannot do. You can open doors. I see what you did there like to a garbage truck, right? I don't really laugh like that, do I?

00:59:04 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 4:

So that surprise appearance caused some drama. There was an FCC commissioner who then accused SNL of a clear and blatant effort to evade the FCC's equal time rule. And if you aren't familiar with that, it basically requires broadcasters to offer comparable time to opposing candidates. Doesn't have to be identical, doesn't have to be exactly equal, but it has to be comparable.

00:59:29 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 2:

The FCC's equal time rule has been on the books for dozens and dozens of years. NBC knows this because this exact issue issue has come up time and time again with respect to this exact program. And it's important that the FCC come together and we take action. Otherwise, our rules are absolutely meaningless.

00:59:45 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So NBC then allowed Donald Trump and the Trump campaign to air a 90 second ad during Sunday Night Football and NASCAR, which you may have picked up on to try to make make that good, essentially.

00:59:58 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 6:

It is interesting that...

01:00:00 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 2:

Lorne Michaels was in the Hollywood Reporter a month ago and said he was not going to have any presidential candidates on. And that was the reason, was he didn't want to have, because by the way, they have to offer equal time now to Jill Stein too. And RFK, right? And RFK. No, because he's out now. But he is still literally on ballots. So if he wants to, he can actually ask for that and he could probably pass it if he wanted to.

01:00:22 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 4:

And NBC does not have to go out and seek all of these campaigns to offer their time. The rival candidates have to request it, so they can now.

01:00:30 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 2:

at this point i i was actually um first off i i know that people in detroit there's some people in detroit that were uh kind of bummed about it because she ended up having to cancel uh an event that she was doing that night because her plane literally was diverted they said they pulled the pulled the windows down on the plane because they diverted from going to detroit then pulled into new york because they didn't want the press that was on there to know what was going on but it ended up getting leaked anyway and obviously it was something that must have just come down because if you're SNL, why would you not promote that? I know they had like 4 million people watching the thing. You would think that they would have promoted that. They would have gotten even more people to watch it. But it is interesting that they waited until the last week of this to do it. Because if I'm SNL, honestly, I have everybody on just because it's going to bring people's eyes to watching these things.

01:01:21 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 4:

In Other Dirty this morning, as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, there are certain things that Tom Brady is not really allowed to do anymore in his role as an analyst for Fox. So while he's in the broadcast booth alongside Kevin Burkhart, he has to be really careful with his language and how it relates to officials. And help me understand this. Technically, he's not allowed to criticize officials, but that rule's kind of fuzzy.

01:01:47 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 2:

An owner of a team cannot criticize officials publicly. And even though he is an analyst for Fox, which is kind of dumb that you would think that the analyst is the person you want criticizing the officials. But now they've actually added Dean Blandano, who is one of the former officials, in the booth with him for these situations. But Brady didn't shut up.

01:02:08 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and this happened in the second quarter of yesterday's Lions-Packers game. Detroit's Brian Branch was penalized for a hit to the head and neck area of Green Bay's Bo Melton. It was a clear-cut foul.

01:02:19 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 3:

So they just threw out Brian Branch, who's one of the best defensive players, and that came from New York.

01:02:27 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 2:

Wow! I don't love that call at all. I mean, obviously it's a penalty, but to me, that has to be serious intent in a game like this. ...like conduct. Defense number 32. It'll be an additional 15-yard penalty. First down Green Bay. I don't know how Fox asks your number one analyst to not analyze, you know?

01:02:48 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 3:

Give Green Bay the... I don't know how that's not a breach of his contract.

01:02:50 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 1:

But this was a different situation than the average rule of him not being able to talk about the referees. This was a situation where there was a penalty called on the field. He was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, got 15 yards. And then all of a sudden, the guys in New York said, OK, this is targeting. We're going to eject him. And that's where Brady got involved and said, you know what? I don't like this.

01:03:13 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 4:

But here's the thing. You are allowed to disagree with the call without criticizing an official. So that is a very fine line, which he voiced his frustration with the call, and he didn't aim it at any particular official. So they're saying he's kind of in the clear here.

01:03:33 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was great. I thought it was great that he said what he said because we all thought the same thing, obviously, as Lions fans. I'm sure Green Bay fans were probably happy to see Branch get thrown out.

01:03:43 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 1:

He got called for a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty. They were all set up to run the next play, and then all of a sudden he gets ejected. That's where the frustration comes from.

01:03:52 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 2:

Well, the thing is, New York reviews all those plays, and if the on-field ref does not say, I'm going to review it, New York can overrule anything that's on the field to protect, obviously, players from... And it probably was a dirty hit, to be honest with you.

01:04:07 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it was an ejectable hit. I think any reasonable Lions fan would say, we deserve the penalty. That was close to targeting. Absolutely. But him to get kicked out for that was wild when we've had other players punch people in the head. We've had, let's be honest, we loved Ntanakensu when he played for us, but he curbsomped somebody. Like, there are actionable offenses to get kicked out of the game. I didn't think that one was so blatantly intentional.

01:04:34 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys know the story of Peanut the Squirrel? Yes! I mean, this has been all over social media this weekend. So, if you don't know the backstory, let me give you like the 30 second version. There's this guy named Mark Longo. He rescued this squirrel that he named Peanut after his mom, squirrel's mom, was hit by a car. Has kept him as a pet now for the past seven years, okay? And Peanut had...

01:05:00 - 01:05:28 | Speaker 1:

I have to say had in the past tense and I'll tell you mine in a second. Peanut had like a million something followers across all of its social media accounts. Well, Peanut the squirrel is no more. He was seized by authorities and euthanized. In a statement on Friday, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation said Peanut and a raccoon named Fred was taken from Mark Longo's home and were euthanized to test for rabies. Apparently, one person was bitten by Peanut during that confiscation.

01:05:28 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 2:

He added in another post to Peanut, I'm sorry I failed you.

01:05:49 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 1:

On Saturday, Mark went live and announced that he and his wife have retained legal counsel to pursue civil litigation against the state of New York. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

We have an addition to make to this concert, okay? We're going to make an addition right now, and you're going to love this. I don't know, Rachel, you know, if this is going to be you winning this, wouldn't that be just crazy if that happens? We are adding a contest to this concert that we have never done ever in the history of our Jingle Balls that we have ever had. One of the biggest fans of the Channel 955 Jingle Ball presented by Capital One year after year is our good friend Tanya Lalonde from Summit Place Kia. Shout out, Tanya. We love, by the way, you're going to be able to in a second. She's on the phone with us. Yeah, she's on hold right now as we speak. And Tanya Lalonde, being such a fan of this, she's there every single year. I don't think you've missed one. Have you missed a jingle ball before, Tanya?

01:07:03 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 4:

I've never missed one, Mojo. How are you, Tanya? Welcome, Tanya. It's my jam. Hi, Mojo, Shannon, Megan, Kevin, KP, and of course Lydia. Hey, da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da. The song that plays key.

01:07:18 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Da-da-da-da-da-da. Can we sing your jingle sometime in a commercial? I would love to do that.

01:07:22 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 4:

We should be driving a Kia. Summit plays Kia. Summit plays Kia. Yes. Yes, let's do it.

01:07:28 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, that would be awesome. Well, we can do it with this. We can do it with this contest because listen to what we're doing. Tanya, we presented her with, hey, you know what? You love this thing so much. We'd love to bring you up on stage. And wouldn't this be kind of cool? We can have you come up and say hi to everybody. And she's like, well, how about this? I'll give away a car. We're like, a car? Okay. Let's give away a car. Tony Travato right away, because he's a huge fan and he loves Summit plays Kia. Tony Travato starts. What did he start with? What kind of car did he start with at first? A K5. Okay. So he asks you right away. He goes, let's do that. Tanya goes big. It's like, Tanya, go big or go home. What kind of car are we giving away at Jingle Ball 2024?

01:08:06 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 4:

Never say no to Mojo or Tony Travato, by the way. So we said, how about if we give away a brand new SX, X-Pro, all-wheel drive, Summit Place Kia, Telluride. Wow. Telluride. That is a good looking car. Those are nice.

01:08:23 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 3:

That's no little throwaway vehicle. That's unbelievable. What does a car like that value? What's the sticker price on something like that?

01:08:31 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 4:

About $52,000. Oh, my God.

01:08:34 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Look, Tanya's the one, bro. This is amazing. And listen to what you got to do to win this thing. It's very simple. We're making this easy. You got to either win a pair of tickets or tickets from us here at the station. Buy tickets. Go to Ticketmaster, and you can get tickets to the show. or simply come to the radio station and register to win. And everybody's going to be eligible to win a 2024 Kia Telluride the night of our Jingle Ball on December the 10th. Ah, man. I'm looking at pictures online right now. This thing is sweet. Man.

01:09:09 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, Joe, I just sent you a picture of this vehicle. Not only is it a gorgeous vehicle, but it also comes with J.D. Power awarded safety features, To name a few, blind spot, collision warning, lane and parking assist, smart cruise control, auto, dual front, full-length side curtain, and rear first and second row mounted airbags. You know they're the safest vehicles on the road there.

01:09:31 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Did you just say that because I started off the show saying that my wife won't let me drive a car anymore because I'm such a bad driver? Is that why you brought up all the safety stuff?

01:09:42 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 4:

I was going to say, it also includes dual sunroofing, carming, carming, audio. All right. He did invented seats and a 12 1⁄2-inch in-dash media screen, just to name a few.

01:09:51 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Oh, my God. Okay, so let me go through this again. The Jingle Ball stars, Jack Harlow, Teddy Swims, Jay...

Summit plays Kia. Will you do me a favor? You've got all the time in the world right now. This is not costing you anything, although Lauren might send you a bill. 01:12:13 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 4:

Mojo, you put me on the spot. Of course, without all of the media attention we get from our iHeart partners, we wouldn't be number one and number two. But we are so excited to partner with you. And my staff is awesome. And, of course, the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Emily's beautiful, Emily's city. Lalonde Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, Summit Place Kia in Clinton Township, Summit Place Kia in Auburn Hills, and SummitPlaceKia.com. Give it up.

01:12:40 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 2:

I love this woman to death. I'm telling you that she's one of my favorite people in the world. I loved her late husband, Rich, who was one of the sweetest men I've ever met. You guys have always been such a giving family. I love your family. I love your kids. I love this. We're going to have so much fun. Jingle Ball, December the 10th. Make sure everybody comes to Jingle Ball, okay?

01:13:04 - 01:13:16 | Speaker 1:

Let's do it. And Tanya, I know you like people who go big or go home. Everybody on the show, sponsored by an auto dealer except me. Just saying, you should be driving a Kia.

01:13:16 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 4:

Somebody plays Kia. Okay, we tried to get together. You guys stood me up the last time.

01:13:22 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, listen, Josiah had to go to the hospital. We never rescheduled. That's what happened.

01:13:28 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's true. I forgot about that.

01:13:30 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 1:

We'll put something on the books.

01:13:31 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

All right, Kevin would be great. Honestly, I'm going to tell you, he would be fantastic for this, and he has a car that needs to be gone.

01:13:40 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 1:

That's right.

01:13:41 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, we might not get him out of this Telluride once he sees you.

01:13:46 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 2:

Tanya, thank you so much. I appreciate you. We'll talk to you soon. Keep your phone active because I may call you later this morning and shout out Summit Place Kia and ask you more about this car because I really want to know more about it, okay?

01:13:58 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 4:

Sounds great. I love you guys.

01:14:00 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 2:

All right. We love you too. Take care. Tanya Lalonde, Summit Place Kia. We're going to go. That is really a cool idea. Yeah, I got to tell you that I had no idea what Tony Travato had up his sleeve. I was kind of like hoping he was going to add T-Pain.

01:14:15 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 1:

We got the other team. We got to tell you right.

01:14:17 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 2:

I'll be honest with you. This is better than that. Everybody, I've never, can you imagine going to a concert and winning a car? Winning a $50,000 plus car. We could do so many great contests here. It's just insane. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. You're home of Second Date Update. That's on the way in just a little bit. Shannon, actually, I want to have you be next up here. You were talking about the living arrangements in your house. And because you had a home that did not have enough bedrooms and stuff, you had to add some space for Wes's kids, right? Yeah. So my stepdaughter, Samantha, has her own bedroom upstairs with the rest of us. My stepson, Kieran's a senior in high school. Dude, I have learned, like, teenagers, especially teenage boys, they just want their own space. So I, we have a totally finished basement, and so he has the whole basement to himself. It is sweet. He has, like, an apartment down there. He's got a couch. He's got a TV. He's got his bed. Curtis Kitchen and Bath just redid a great bathroom for him. Like, he is totally set.

01:15:29 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 3:

That was what I wanted my entire life with my parents. I wanted my parents to let me move either to the basement or the attic.

01:15:35 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So the thing is, though, I this is like my first time dealing with teenagers. Lucy and Smith are in elementary school. So this is all very new for me. I am terrified to go down into a teenage teenage boy's bedroom. I had the like a sprinkler company out over the weekend. So, you know, you have to like blow out your sprinklers or whatever. before the uh before the winter and so um they've literally been coming since lucy and smith were babies to my house i've used the same company i'll shout them out precision lawn irrigation love you guys they're the best um so they're used to trudging through like barbies and american girl dolls and legos and the you know all the other crap that's usually laying all over my basement floor to shut off my water which they have to do so the other day the guy was came up and he's like I am pleasantly surprised to see how clean and different the basement looks. And I said, oh, yeah, my stepson lives down there now. And I said, I have a teenage boy, which means I never, ever come down here because I am too scared at what I am going to find.

01:16:42 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Now you get to enjoy this.

01:16:45 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 2:

The what? The sex. Well, I don't want to. No, dirty laundry is all I meant. Okay. Yeah. But really, parents.

01:16:52 - 01:16:54 | Speaker 3:

You know what she means by that, don't you?

01:16:54 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 2:

What have you found? She has no clue. What have you found? The things that I would hide in my own bedroom, I can't imagine how bad it would be for a boy.

01:17:02 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 4:

Man, when I was in high school, we'll just say dirty movies because I don't know what you can or can't say. It was a dirty movie that got passed around. Ew. Or like a little girl. And I used to have like this. It was a VHS tape? Oh, no, no. It was a disc, like a DVD. Oh, a DVD. Okay, okay. Well, you said tape. I thought you said tape. Well, because in my mind, I'm trying not to say the P word. Right, right, right. But like a dirty movie. And it got passed around. I think it was called, like, I don't know what I can... Don't, don't, don't. It's not like any... It's not like a crazy one. Was it like somebody does something? It's called Booty Talk 4. Booty Talk 4. I've seen that.

01:17:37 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 3:

By the way, have you seen one, two, or three? They're fantastic.

01:17:40 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 4:

I know it's better than three.

01:17:41 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 2:

Kind of worse than two.

01:17:42 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 4:

Listen, they had some stars on that one. It got passed around like the whole class. But I remember trying to hide it from my mom. And not that she was coming in my room, but I was like, I gotta hide this.

01:17:53 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 3:

Shannon you need to call Chelsea and ask her

01:17:56 - 01:17:58 | Speaker 2:

No I will never go down there

01:17:58 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 3:

A mother of three

01:18:00 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 2:

Boys I can't even imagine

01:18:02 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 3:

The stuff that you find and yes Megan You do find a lot of dirty socks

01:18:05 - 01:18:28 | Speaker 2:

It's so funny because I have like a storage area Down there that like he has the whole Basement to himself but there is a storage area Like where the furnace is or whatever And that's where I keep like all my wrapping paper and crap So if I ever need anything I'm like Wes Can you go downstairs and get the wrapping paper that has the gumballs on it and just I remember as a kid can I tell you the most embarrassing thing my parents

01:18:28 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 3:

ever witnessed when they went into my room when I was a kid the worst thing ever me oh god so embarrassing pretending I was Bon Jovi singing living on a prayer I used to do I used to do my own concerts in my room and my dad wanted me to shut the music off I was listening to Bon Jovi I I would get, my brother had a drum set. I would get the drumstick and pretend it was the microphone, which, by the way, it was kind of a big Bob Barker-y microphone if it was a drumstick. And I would sit there, and my dad walked in, didn't say a word, and sat there and watched me as I was turning to the crowd to sing to that girl in the front row. I would honestly rather have my dad watch me butter in the corn than that. But any parents of teenagers or any teenagers that want to give Shannon forewarning, be careful. What's up, Tiffany? Hi.

01:19:25 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. A friend and I were cleaning out the basement where her cousin used to live, and we found a homemade pocket piece. A homemade? What was it made of? It was made of, are you ready for this? It was made of two diapers, a bag, and a rubber band. Ew. That sounds so dry.

01:19:49 - 01:19:51 | Speaker 3:

How do you know it was a pocket pee, though? Honestly.

01:19:52 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 1:

Because it was right next to the baby oil.

01:19:54 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

01:19:58 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Wait, diapers?

01:20:00 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 3:

A bag and a rubber band I gotta try that Can I tell you that's funny Can I tell you that's funny We used to also have Homemade We used to call them weed no busts So we would take Toilet paper rolls which kind of sounds like It would have been a pocket pee I could see my sisters thinking What the hell is he doing with this We would take toilet paper rolls Put bounce dryer sheets inside of it Tape the end of it And we would blow our weed into it so that it would blow out. Oh, yeah. Everybody's done that once in their life. My sisters would come and find those, and they would get so mad at me for, you know, smoking weed. They didn't like it. Smoking the reefer. They didn't like that I was doing that. But the pocket pee, can you imagine that? That's insanity. Shannon, can you imagine finding that sucker?

01:20:49 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 2:

I would die.

01:20:52 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 3:

Marissa, what's up?

01:20:53 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, so I used to have one of those little crystal lamps that the light would go inside and, like, light up the crystal. Yeah, so I took out the light and put my bag of weed in there. Yeah. And put it back on my nightstand. And every time my dad would come down, he'd be like, man, it really smells like weed in here, but I never catch you smoking. And I knew it was hidden in my little, like, crystal lamp. Oh, my God.

01:21:17 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 3:

Did he do something kind of cool, too? Like, does he have, like, the beaded door at all? Like, you know, every kid had the beaded door. I had one of those. You know what I mean? Glow in the dark stars and moon, baby.

01:21:27 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 4:

I have a little hook on the side of the door, too, so you could put it off to the side. But one time, my brother was chasing me, and I was running really fast, and the stars and moons would get locked together, and I totally out of my throat one time.

01:21:41 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, does he ever have to worry about Smith and Lucy coming in there? Does he ever yell, like, get them out of here, or does that ever happen?

01:21:50 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 5:

No, it hasn't happened yet. But they're pretty, like, everybody's pretty respectful, honestly, about other people's faces.

01:21:56 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 3:

I remember on the Brady Bunch when Greg moved to the attic and Bobby and Cindy would go up in the attic all the time. I don't know why that reference comes into play, but he had the beaded door, too. What's up, Zach? Hi.

01:22:07 - 01:22:08 | Unknown:

Brady Bunch.

01:22:09 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 3:

You've never seen a Brady Bunch episode in your life, have you? I've seen a movie, though. You saw the movie.

01:22:13 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 5:

Wait, the funny movie or the- You've never seen an episode?

01:22:14 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the first one was funny. The second one was not funny.

01:22:17 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't remember.

01:22:17 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 3:

I was at my grandma's house.

01:22:19 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 4:

There was one, like, making fun of the Brady Bunch. No, it was- Jan was in there. Marshall, Marshall, Marshall. Yeah. No, that was a good one.

01:22:25 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 3:

What's up?

01:22:25 - 01:22:26 | Speaker 5:

It's that one. Yes.

01:22:27 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 3:

Zach, what's up? What's going on? Hi.

01:22:32 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 1:

I moved out of my parents' house with my fiance, and I got a call on my mom and found I used condom under my...

01:22:39 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 3:

Wait.

01:22:40 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 5:

He's saying it like he's still ashamed and scared of being punished.

01:22:42 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 3:

But you live with your fiance. You should. Well, I would think as a mom, she probably wants you to be using condoms.

01:22:49 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, she wasn't very happy when she found it because she had to touch it and throw it away.

01:22:54 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 5:

Why are you not throwing that away yourself?

01:23:00 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 1:

I thought I threw it away. I guess I didn't.

01:23:03 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 3:

Did you bring condoms? Oh, man. By the way, it sounds like a kid that lives in his basement with his parents. What's going on? How you doing, Ryan?

01:23:12 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 1:

Hi. What's up? Long time. Hey. What's going on, buddy? Hey, Shannon, wait till you come across the lucky socks. See, I will not.

01:23:23 - 01:23:27 | Speaker 5:

I will not, Ryan. And you know why? Because I don't go down there. Why is he lucky?

01:23:29 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, you don't have to. Use your imagination.

01:23:33 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I'm sure there's been a washing of two of those. What's up, Megan? Hi.

01:23:40 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 6:

Hi. First time in a long time. Hey there. Megan's on the phone.

01:23:44 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 3:

Megan with an A like Megan Mick or Megan with just the M-E-G-A-N?

01:23:50 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 4:

M-E-G-A-N. Okay.

01:23:52 - 01:23:53 | Speaker 3:

That's the right way to do it.

01:23:53 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 4:

Do it. That's grosser than anything found in a teenage bathroom or bedroom.

01:23:58 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:23:59 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 6:

I have some teenage boys. One is a little bit cleaner than the other one. And my oldest, I go in there and I find food and pop cans. And it's so gross. And someone suggested putting rice on the floor to make it look like mice came in. Like it was mice dropping. So I think I might actually do that.

01:24:22 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 5:

Wes said that's all. He goes, Shan. To calm your fears a little bit. That's really all. It's like two-week-old mac and cheese bowls and pop cans. Which is actually pretty disgusting.

01:24:32 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 3:

I would rather find the socks because at least you can pick them up on the outside than the bowls. The bowls are hard to clean out. Like the ones on our ceiling here. Right. Did you hear that? One of the DJs here at the station was eating bowls of cereal and putting them in the ceiling tiles. We can't figure out who it was that was doing that. What? What? How about this?

01:24:53 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that sick?

01:24:54 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 3:

It's just awful.

01:24:55 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 5:

It's not just teenage boys either.

01:24:56 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 3:

Victoria?

01:24:58 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

01:24:59 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi. victoria victoria is a mom wants to call out something shannon for you what's up yeah this

01:25:05 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

is not my son this is my ex's son that was staying with us every other weekend i found what i thought was tea in his mini fridge in his room but it was cups of tea what why he would always be in his room playing video games and apparently was too busy in the middle of the night to try to go to the bathroom. I need to take a pee-pee. He just peed inside the room with any bottled water, cup, anything that he had available. Oh, my

01:25:41 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 4:

God. Why did he put it back in the refrigerator?

01:25:44 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 1:

It probably wasn't for you. It was in his mini fridge in the room. So, he never, I guess, tossed it out.

01:25:52 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 4:

Every boy has a pee bottle. I will say that. I've never refrigerated mine. Because you just gotta pee sometimes at night. Go to the bathroom.

01:26:01 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 1:

Sometimes you don't want to do that, man.

01:26:04 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 4:

You just throw it under the bed or something.

01:26:06 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 1:

That is disgusting. That's disgusting. Don't yuck our yucks.

01:26:11 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. They can yuck everybody else's yucks but a teenage boy. I have daughters.

01:26:17 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 1:

I only have two daughters of my own and I've never dealt with boys like that, but apparently it is a thing. That is disgusting.

01:26:25 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 3:

Definitely don't drink the tea. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it. All right, we're going to give you a chance to win a trip to Florida again this week. Normally we do it at 8 o'clock, but we're so late. That was a great topic. We've got to do it now. Listen to this. It's a trip to Tampa, Florida that you have a chance to win. First of five qualifiers today, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 95th caller, 844-665-6548, our telephone number. Zach's over there with a big smile on his face because the funny thing is, Zach's about to move out of his sister and brother-in-law's house. Yeah, Zach! And you know he's got more socks, more cups of tea, more peace condoms.

01:27:04 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 2:

What's the grossest thing you have in your room that your sister would just be so mad at you? Oh, dude, my laundry's real bad right now. Like, real bad. I haven't done it in probably a month.

01:27:12 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Zach, do me a favor before I get into the second half of the show. Come over here. Let me smell your belly button.

01:27:18 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:27:18 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 3:

01:27:31 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 4:

He's got to test him. Come on over.

01:27:32 - 01:27:37 | Speaker 3:

If you don't feel comfortable, I won't have you do it. These contestants are signing. Can we do it out there? Why?

01:27:38 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 4:

This is like preseason basketball.

01:27:39 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 3:

The contestants are doing this on Wednesday, smell my hole for Jelly Roll, are all going to have to sign an affidavit that they're not going to come back and diddy sue me, okay? I don't want to have any of that happening. Oh, this is weird, bro. This is weird. Let's get a picture. Let's get a picture. Let's get a picture. Hold on a second. Are you ready? You ready? Come on. We got it. Is it on camera? Are we on camera?

01:28:00 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 4:

01:28:06 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I'm not going to lie to you. I never knew you had such a great belly button. That's a fantastic belly button. All right, here we go. Here we go. Hold on.

01:28:14 - 01:28:20 | Speaker 4:

I can't do it. No. No. It smells so bad.

01:28:20 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Hold on. I'm tasting a little oak. Stop. I'm oaky. It's like cinnamon oaky.

01:28:30 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 4:

He's a belly button sommelier.

01:28:33 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 3:

That is the most, honestly, can I tell you something? I don't know what fabric softener you or your sister uses, but it's wonderful. It's wonderful, yeah. Shannon, you may want to try it. Three break stations. I love you, Zach. One stupid show.

Hello.

01:30:31 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Jessica. I got to get the little music here so that you know it's official. It's only official if you hear the music here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. How are you doing? Where are you from?

01:30:41 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you? I am from Grand Rapids. I love it.

01:30:44 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for listening. What part of Grand Rapids?

01:30:47 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 4:

Waylon. So I live by Gunlight Casino.

01:30:49 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. We're going to have to come and see you sometime. Hey, you're a winner. Congratulations. Thank you. So you're qualifier number one. We got you locked in right now for the contest to win a trip to Florida. How would you like to go to Tampa, Florida?

01:31:09 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that'd be amazing.

01:31:10 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 3:

Listen to this. If you win this prize, which, by the way, you got a $50 cash card, so you definitely won. You're now qualified for a trip for you and a friend to go to Tampa, Florida. You will stay at the Hyatt Place. I've actually stayed there before. Chelsea and I have stayed there numerous times. It is awesome. Daily breakfast for two. Riverwalk Attraction Passes, giving you access to seven of Tampa's most unique spots. Unlock Tampa Bay, the hip urban heart of Florida's Gulf Coast, courtesy of Visit Florida. The coolest thing about it is everything is all right there, right on the bay, on the riverfront there, and it's some of the coolest things ever. There's some of the coolest bars. Joe from The Joe Show, Ashley and Jed and Terry are all there from The Joe Show, which you can hear afternoons on Channel 955, but also he's my son. 01:32:19 - 01:32:20 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:32:20 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 3:

All right. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. God bless you.

01:32:28 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I cut my mic off, too. It still is loud.

01:32:31 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 3:

By the way, it's funny. In our new studio, we have cough buttons and stuff. They never work. No. Because you cut them off every other mic. Yeah. So it doesn't cut anything off. What it does is it just makes you feel like you didn't get heard by other people.

01:32:46 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 2:

I should just sneeze next time and don't even press a button.

01:32:50 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 3:

Dating without being married. So you're hanging out with the guys this weekend?

01:32:55 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

Man, so not just the guys. My girl B and T, Brittany and Tamara. Shout out to the homies. Brittany moved to Atlanta, so she was in town this weekend. Had a chance to catch up with her. That was fun. Homie Tamara, that's just the homie. He was there, too. So we go out for brunch. Anytime Brittany comes in town, we have this thing where we just go to brunch. So we go to brunch, and we're brunching. you know we got the mimosas going shout out to the mango mimosas i don't know if you've ever had a mango mimosa if they have the option for one highly suggest you use it and tell the woman you only want the juice or woman or guy whoever doing that for us it was a lady that was doing it that's why i said that um just add a little juice just for color you don't really want juice you just need a little splash in there spray yeah yeah just to just to give you the tint so ask for a little tint in mind mimosas are flowing and it's an attractive waitress who's not our waitress as walking back and forth my boy team make mention of it here and there what the what the what she come by at this point i guess you know now's the opportunity to actually speak to her so he's like hey um how you doing i'm cool he's like um you look nice they kind of talking for whatever then he's like are you single she's like no at this point she flattered she's like no i'm in a relationship but how long you been together she's like 10 years you're like 10 years and you're not married she's like no we're not married he's like well i mean time is winding up when you're gonna get married then she starts to get like that if he doesn't propose to me pretty soon then it'll be over in my mind i'm like you've been with him for 10 years at this point like you locked in if you haven't let in my mind if you've been with somebody for 10 years and he hasn't proposed to you even if y'all have talked about getting married if you're not married 10 years in you're probably not going to get married that's funny because it's not the case for anybody i know who dated that long okay how give me give me more than that like um my two

01:34:43 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

cousins dated for 12 years before they got married my other cousin dated her now husband for eight years the wedding i went to a couple of weeks ago they've been together nine or ten years and they just got married like everybody i know who's been dating that long is married where did they start Guaranteating like.

01:35:00 - 01:35:02 | Speaker 3:

in high school or college, though? Only one of those couples was in high school.

01:35:03 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I can see it that way. At some point when somebody's married, if somebody's with somebody for 20 years, why get married? At what point, why get married? I mean, I guess if you have kids and you want...

01:35:14 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 1:

Medical benefits.

01:35:15 - 01:35:20 | Speaker 2:

But can't you get benefits with a partner, a long-term partner, or no?

01:35:20 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 3:

No? Do you have to get married? I'm sure you can. I don't know, to be honest with you.

01:35:26 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 2:

By the way, can I just say something about you and your friends? Preach. That guy This is the hot waitress right That's with him 20 years That guy that is with the hot waitress At the Mangoman Mimosa place Is so pissed off at you Because she went home and said I had a table full of guys That all said And this guy's going

01:35:46 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 3:

Why are you talking about my business

01:35:49 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 1:

She sounds like she wants to get married

01:35:51 - 01:35:53 | Speaker 3:

She's just waiting and waiting

01:35:53 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 1:

She made the point to say If he doesn't hurry up then it'll be over because he was kind of flirting with him like if y'all don't you know yeah how long does he have but in my mind it's like 10 years megan and i understand because my thought was like where shannon's mind was going was like if the relationship happens where you meet freshman year or sophomore year something like that in high school and then you continue on like that i can understand but like if you're an adult no and you go 10 years i just don't know how how that works especially if one person really really wants to get married yeah a couple just got married a couple weeks ago that are my cousins they're in their 40s they've been dating 10 years just got married a couple weeks ago was it like a reason why they didn't get married sooner or

01:36:30 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 2:

that you know of no i would i would be by the way 844 mojo live if anybody's in a relationship like this where they're long term like and we're talking you know double or less than double digits that you guys have been together without getting married um what is keeping you from getting married i'm sure it's got to be finances right or is it that you just don't necessarily feel like you need to do the whole legal thing i think that it's i think that it's one of those things where we're seeing less and less people that want the hassles in the the bs of getting married they only want it for because they you know figure that a family member might want to do it you know what i mean i don't think marriage i think the symbolism of marriage and this is kind of sad to say this but i think there's so many people that get married and get divorced they're

01:37:16 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 1:

like why complicate things you know and i i would i would no i fully understand where you're coming from my hope is that people wouldn't look at somebody else's situation and allow that situation

01:37:29 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 2:

to dim their light yeah what's happening maria maria yes hi who are you maria yes hi i'm the hot waitress from uh the restaurant that kevin was on yeah are you serious oh my god wait a second So not only has your guy got a lot of crap from these guys talking to you this weekend, now we're talking about it on the radio. This has got to be even worse.

01:37:57 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 3:

I love it.

01:37:59 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 2:

It's hilarious. Wait, did you go home and say to him, I waited on a table full of guys and girls that were all talking about our relationship?

01:38:07 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes, absolutely. And he knows it, too. I give him so much, you know, stuff for it.

01:38:12 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So let me ask you, Maria, if he said to you today, will you marry me you'd jump at that of course and do you think that he what are the odds that he says it to you today probably zero zero really zero point zero zero point zero um do you maria

01:38:33 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 3:

does it ever frustrate you oh of course you know we've been dating for a long time so you know i've given a lot of years to him so you know but it's it's different because like we almost act like we're married we're not married on paper but we live together we act like we're married we do everything together we're best friends so it's like we are married but we're not so uh when

01:38:58 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 2:

these guys were hitting on you slash getting your story because come on that's a hitting on job That was, these guys were flirting, weren't they?

01:39:07 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 1:

Maria is beautiful.

01:39:09 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Maria, are you ever tempted to leave your situation if something better should come? No? No. Wow, okay. I love him. You do? Does his family and your family give you guys crap for this?

01:39:25 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. My family is. Super old school tradition. Even me living with him is crazy right now.

01:39:33 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 2:

What would be the longest that you would stay with him without being married?

01:39:40 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 3:

Probably for like another six months, I think.

01:39:44 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Does he know that? Yes. So if he doesn't do something in the next six months, then you're out.

01:39:55 - 01:39:56 | Unknown:

Yes. Wow.

01:39:57 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 2:

What are your thoughts? What are the percentages? that he does something i'm hoping a hundred i really do i mean i get where you're coming from if that's a goal for you but i just feel like how do you step out on a relationship with somebody you love but also how are they not meeting you halfway it seems so complicated hold on one second

01:40:17 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 1:

keep her there for a second you're gonna stay on the phone with us while i grab some of these calls ashley are you there yes ashley i got maria on the phone she's the uh hot waitress that kev and his friends all met this weekend um what's your situation so i've been together with my fiance

01:40:35 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 4:

for 12 years um and i wanted a wedding so bad but six months before my mom passed she told me she would never see me walk down the aisle and it was a sudden passing we didn't know what was going to happen so i refuse to get married now whoa okay so you so you actually had circumstances

01:40:59 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 1:

that were obviously you know tragic for you and your family and that's the reason why you're not going to get married i that makes me uh kind of sad though i'm sad by that yeah i uh i've always

01:41:13 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 4:

grew up wanting like the big beautiful wedding and everything like that and uh she had said six months before she passed that um she would never see me walk down the aisle because she just knew that um at first it was just like money you know situations but um then she unfortunately suddenly passed and i just can't bring myself to get married but don't you think her you can do

01:41:40 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 1:

something nice for her memory by doing it getting married and do something kind of cool for her

01:41:44 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 4:

yeah i could um but just in the back of my head it's just like she's not gonna be there my mom was like a big part of my life like she was a big like i get that it would feel like

01:41:56 - 01:42:03 | Speaker 2:

something was missing you can't rob yourself of those life experiences and know that she

01:42:03 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 1:

she will be there listen i i will say this i know how hard it is to lose a parent i lost my mom too but i feel like my mom's with me every single day and she's the one that's helping me in the in my life every single day so i would hope that and you'd feel that same feeling with your mom and maybe not just say i'm not going to do it but maybe give it a little bit of time uh i like these by the way maria we're getting texters here right now that must know exactly where kev was at drinking these things because they all say if your guy doesn't ask you they'll ask you they'll come back there's a lot of people christine are you there christine i'm here hey y'all uh doing Hey, y'all. What's happening? What's going on? That's what happens when we play Post Malone and Morgan Wallen together. We get some hey, y'alls.

01:42:50 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 6:

Well, I'm in Georgia, so I've been here for about, like, 13 years, so it's grown off me, but I am an original Detroiter.

01:42:57 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 1:

In Georgia, you guys have all kinds of different laws that are different than ours. If you're together for a period of time, aren't you already married?

01:43:04 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm not sure if they have common law, like, common, what is it called?

01:43:10 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 1:

It's common law, yeah, common law marriage. I think we have it, I think we have it maybe in Michigan. Somebody has to Google that.

01:43:16 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 6:

I'm not sure, but.

01:43:18 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Question for you.

01:43:19 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 6:

My fiance has been together.

01:43:20 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 1:

How long?

01:43:21 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Oh, for about 20 years. I was 17, and now I'm going to be like 37 next month.

01:43:27 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Maria's on the phone with us right now. Maria, refresh everybody's memory. How long have you guys been together?

01:43:32 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 5:

10 years.

01:43:34 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 1:

So she's been together half that time. She actually gave him an ultimatum. What do you think about that?

01:43:40 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's that's really sketchy. And I don't say that, you know, in a negative from a negative perspective. But it's. You know, you both have to be ready if he's still with you, at least I think that he needs to make a commitment in my situation, my fiance. Well, I mean, now we're he's my fiance. We he proposed to me a few years ago, but we just had, you know, life was happening. um there was a point where i was in college way back when i was working two jobs his job was really demanding but we made a commitment so i think that that's the biggest thing that people have to to look at at first as well is he committed to you is he um invested in the relationship and and just allow the time allow it to organically happen maria what happens if he

01:44:31 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 1:

does propose to you within this six month period of time but then wants a long engagement

01:44:35 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 5:

um i would definitely be with him so you're you just want to ring that's all you want you want you want the the ring as the other woman was saying i i would just like to be a little bit more committed you know just i know we're committed we live together but i just want something to kind of solidify that sure that's understandable okay mojo in the morning what's up

01:44:58 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

Christina?

01:44:59 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Hey.

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning.

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

01:45:02 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 1:

So, two things. I'm curious, you know, if they're best friends and, like, so in tune, like, what are his reservations? Why wouldn't he want to marry this beautiful woman? And for two, the saying goes, and I love it, don't let your boyfriend hold you back from your husband. If you want to get married and you want this life, but you're with someone for so long and you're like, well, I don't want to start over. Your boyfriend is holding you back from your husband. You could be done with him and find someone that wants to marry you tomorrow and is a great partner.

01:45:28 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 4:

Wow, did you hear that one?

01:45:29 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I really like that.

01:45:31 - 01:45:33 | Speaker 4:

Maria, how does that make you feel?

01:45:34 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I understand her, too. I completely get it.

01:45:38 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 4:

Why don't we do this? Why don't we tell him that we'll get him a deal at Lucido Fine Jewelry on a ring, and then we'll officiate it. I'll officiate it, and Kevin will be your maid of honor. I got you.

01:45:53 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 3:

I love it. Perfect.

01:45:55 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 4:

Talk to him. Yes, Megan? Can you what?

01:45:57 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's fine.

01:45:59 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Megan wants to also be one of the maids of honor, too. Shannon, you can, too.

01:46:04 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I'm going to be at Lucido. I'm going to be at Lucido right by your restaurant on Wednesday. You just happen to stroll in with your boyfriend, and I'll be there, and we will help make this happen.

01:46:16 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 4:

Maria.

01:46:17 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I'll have to definitely come back to you guys.

01:46:19 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 4:

And if it doesn't, one of Kev's boys is single, right? We got you. Yes.

01:46:25 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 3:

You guys are the best. Thank you.

01:46:27 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 4:

Which one of your boys would be for her? Probably me, to be honest. Oh, come on now. Oh, geez. All right, Maria. We love you, Maria.

01:46:37 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys so much. Listen to you guys every day.

01:46:39 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Thank you. That's very flattering.

01:46:43 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:45 - 01:47:30 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to find out what's going on with second date update. If you don't get a call back after you've been on a date, text DATE to 95500. we'll get you on second date update princess is getting ghosted how do you ghost a princess hi princess hey how you doing good so princess princess is actually not getting a call back after she's gone out and uh how long has it been since you've talked to him uh you know it's been a minute are you bummed about this or did you kind of sense that he was that type of guy that was gonna take you out once and then never call you back

01:47:30 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 3:

i definitely sensed it yeah i love you where are you from by the way we just had a georgia listener where are you from yeah i'm from the south okay i never heard of it a little you know

01:47:45 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 4:

No, tell me, what town is it? I'll put it on the map.

01:47:48 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 3:

No, no, it's just a little old town, so, you know, and people be making fun of it.

01:47:54 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 4:

No, no, what state are you in?

01:47:58 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 3:

What state am I in?

01:47:59 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what state?

01:47:59 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, I'm in Georgia.

01:48:01 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 4:

In Georgia, okay. All right, we got to go down to Georgia. The devil went down to Georgia, Mojo in the Morning is going down to Georgia, too. All right, so what was it? You guys went out on a date, and what ended up happening?

01:48:15 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 3:

Like, nothing. Really? I mean, nothing really. He was just regular, plain. You know, it's whatever.

01:48:27 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 4:

But you were shocked that he completely blew you off. It sounds to me like you didn't enjoy it as much as he probably didn't enjoy it.

01:48:33 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to decide why you were reaching back out for another date if you just said it was meh.

01:48:38 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 3:

I mean, because I just don't understand, you know, why he, you know, hasn't reached back out and stuff like that. Because, I mean, everything was cool. It was cool. But, you know, I don't know what happened. I mean, he didn't get none. So, I'm okay now.

01:48:55 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 4:

I'm okay now. He didn't get none at Georgia Beach.

01:48:57 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys, was there, like, any, like, did you kiss? Did you, how was it left?

01:49:03 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 3:

I mean, he leaned in. I mean, we hugged and stuff. And then, you know, he, it was a light little, you know, peck of peck, you know, on the kids. But, you know, nothing more than that.

01:49:14 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 4:

By the way, we can't say pecker on this radio show. Once you go a little north of Tennessee, no pecker talk on the radio. Real quick, I'm going to find out what's going on for you. I love, love, love, love that this Mojo in the Morning Show can be heard across the world on the iHeartRadio app. I always thought that if I ever did a morning show In Georgia I would all of a sudden find myself getting an accent I would just start talking with an accent

01:49:39 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 2:

Take it from somebody who did That's right Did you do that? You start saying y'all

01:49:43 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 4:

Y'all, what's happening y'all? You start saying y'all Derek is on with us right now Derek, will you say hello to Princess? Oh, um

01:49:53 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 3:

Hey Hi

01:49:55 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 4:

Derek, how could you not call this lovely lady and I'll see you next time. back what is up with you uh i was uh i i don't know i mean i've just been busy i guess so you've

01:50:12 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 1:

been busy that's the only reason why you haven't called her back did you have a good time on the date she sounded like it wasn't an extraordinary date she didn't i mean she didn't do anything

01:50:23 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 4:

with your pecker but she actually had fun i mean i was it was all right you know i wasn't

01:50:30 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 1:

i mean i was trying to just she it was all right it was all right it was okay so it wasn't exactly what you were hoping it would be and if it were what you were hoping it would be you would be uh where it would be you probably would have called her back i i think so that's true did

01:50:50 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 6:

But what were you hoping?

01:50:51 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what were you hoping for?

01:50:55 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 4:

I mean, she was trying to, if she was trying to do something, you know, because I, she told me that she, or at least she had her profile, that she was open to short term. And then when I met her, she said she was mostly long term. I wasn't into that.

01:51:18 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 5:

So you just wanted to hook up? Plain and simple. That's it.

01:51:23 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it was just something that she said she was open to. She put on her profile. So you, wait.

01:51:32 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 6:

I mean, short term, like, we ain't got to run down the aisle and get married right away. But I mean, not like one night only. What's wrong with you?

01:51:43 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 4:

I mean, you had NSA in your profile. No strings attached, so.

01:51:48 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 3:

But did you discuss this at a time like when you were DMing or setting up this date was that in the plans or did you just read it on the profile because I know like for my hinge there are people who have short term long term fully committed like all as options like they're open to multiple things.

01:52:05 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 6:

Is this something exactly it depends on the person who you meet right. see no we didn't discuss it beforehand he just going off the profile so you think i'm some like

01:52:17 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 4:

you know get down for whatever please well you also didn't have you had like filters on your pictures and stuff so when i knew i didn't i didn't you didn't look but i'm still fine

01:52:32 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 6:

But I'm still fine.

01:52:35 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 5:

Okay, wait. So, to be fair, if your profile princess does say, like, no strings attached, you're not looking for anything long term, you kind of can't blame him for getting the wrong idea. Yeah. Well, you got to discuss it.

01:52:51 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 6:

But right off the bat. It's no strings attached but a right one. He ain't the right one but no strings attached. He didn't give me anything and make me want to bust it down that night.

01:53:03 - 01:53:09 | Speaker 1:

See that, Derek? Derek, you got to come to play if you're going to want to get in the game, my friend.

01:53:09 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 3:

Short term doesn't mean you take me out and you get it. It still means you have to put in effort and I'm willing to hook up if we have a connection.

01:53:17 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if I've ever heard anybody say that.

01:53:20 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm on Derek's team, to be honest with you. What, you take her out? I'm on his side. I think when billboards are there, to advertise what it is that the business is offering. So in my mind if I'm going on a profile and I see somebody that says short term and then they say no strings attached

01:53:38 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm thinking they want to smash it. You still have to put in effort, right? This isn't a paid permit. This isn't the back of Craigslist and you're saying let me call you up, schedule a time and here's where the money will be laying at the end of the night. He still has to put in effort that he did not put in.

01:53:54 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 1:

Princess, what were you hoping that you would get out of Derek that would make it more fun for him?

01:54:02 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I just, you know, his energy was just off. I think he, you know, like as far as he kept, his conversation, he kept talking about like leading back to sex or something like, you know, the, what's, you know, your favorite position instead of like, what are my favorite things to do?

01:54:20 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 5:

There was nothing, there was no substance to the date whatsoever.

01:54:22 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 1:

What is your favorite position? You asked that question on a date, Derek?

01:54:26 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 4:

Nah, that's not true. I wasn't asking all that. I was trying to be subtle, you know? I was trying to be like, okay, so.

01:54:33 - 01:54:38 | Speaker 2:

How do you be subtle and ask that? Yeah, you can't. My buddy. So, backdoor, front door.

01:54:40 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Nicole wants to comment. Nicole, what's up? Second date update.

01:54:45 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 6:

Morning, guys. Good morning. He knew from reading that profile, which it should have been specified, but he already knew it was going to be a smash and go. See?

01:54:54 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but he didn't give her anything or any reason to smash

01:54:59 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 6:

Right

01:55:00 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 4:

Do you have to? Yes, she's not. This isn't a hooker. No, maybe I got Tinder confused. Because I'm thinking if you got short-term, long-term, or short-term in the bio, you got no strings attached. The reason why we don't like each other or swipe is because we want to smash. So when we get to the date, it's time to smash. But you have to put in effort.

01:55:21 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 3:

That's wrong, though. You got to be at least a fun date, right?

01:55:23 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 8:

Then you're talking about escort services. Exactly. That's not what she is.

01:55:28 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 3:

Fred, what's up?

01:55:29 - 01:55:30 | Speaker 8:

I mean...

01:55:30 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 7:

Hey, we're calling on Mojo and everybody else. Good morning. The original friend from Detroit. What's up, Fred? The OG is with us.

01:55:38 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:55:40 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 7:

Buddy is tripping. Okay, even though she said no strings attached, you still got to put in the words to even get there. Right. Like, if you go straight in on a date and expecting sex and the only thing you're talking about is sex, you're not going to get it. even if, you know, even if it could go further. But, yeah, he's one of the main reasons why it's hard for, you know, the genuine guys to get through in dating.

01:56:05 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 3:

She is a Southern belle. You need to take care of her. Thank you. Appreciate that, the original Fred. What's up, Deshaun? What's up, Deshaun?

01:56:14 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 2:

Deshaun, we haven't heard from you in a while.

01:56:16 - 01:56:21 | Speaker 6:

Hey, hey, look, I've been going through some days. Let's see the girl out there. How y'all doing, y'all?

01:56:21 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 3:

We're good, Deshaun. What's going on?

01:56:24 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, man, look. I got to say, man, I'm seeing Derrick all the way, man. I mean, you guys would have called him a creep or a-hole if he would have been straightforward. But that's why he just went off the profile, man. So what's it got to be?

01:56:38 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 8:

I'm sorry, go ahead. She doesn't have a problem with it being no strings attached. I feel like that's what people are missing. It's not like she put this in the profile and then said, actually, I'm not doing that. It was, I put it in the profile, I'm fine with that. He wasn't a good enough date to want to hook up with. yes because you still have to connect with somebody why is this why is everybody treating

01:57:03 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 4:

her like she's a prostitute no no i think the idea that some people have is that he showed up to the date and was like this is just our meeting spot let's get out of here and smash that's not how i'm getting it what i'm getting it is he went in with an intention and a mindset that they were This was a foregone conclusion that they were going to smash Because she says it in short term She says it's no strings attached We're here just to meet and then eventually Leave and go smash But when they got to the date She wasn't trying to smash at all

01:57:32 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 8:

Well if you go to a date Maybe we're going to hook up And then he gets weirdly sexual the whole time I'm shutting down

01:57:39 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 4:

But you said maybe hook up He was under pressure

01:57:42 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 6:

What's that? On my profile I have long term or short. I have it all on me. She's got long-term ass. You know, you can choose what you want.

01:57:52 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 3:

Brett's a gentleman. Brett's a gentleman. Brett, what did you want to say?

01:57:56 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I learned from my wife real quick because she's from the South. Even though the profile says that, you still got to put work in. Yes. Especially with the girls from the South. It's different in the North.

01:58:07 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 6:

Where's your girlfriend? Are you calling us easy in the North?

01:58:12 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 5:

Hey, women from the North are a lot easier than the South.

01:58:15 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, gee.

01:58:16 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 3:

Thank God I lived in Tampa for eight years Now we're in trouble Brad everybody was angry at Derek Now they're turning on you Princess I wish you nothing but the best You sound like a beautiful lady I hope you find somebody that treats you The way you should be treated

01:58:34 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to go update my profile Right now

01:58:37 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 3:

Derek good luck to you

01:58:42 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 7:

Alright Okay how's it going

01:58:45 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

this is the home of the dirty on the 30 throwback throwdown second date update and war of the roses this is mojo in the morning mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 shannon with the dirty on 30

01:59:00 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 2:

what's going on shannon are we taking our special guests at the beginning of the dirty or the end

01:59:03 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 3:

let's do it at the end of the dirty because it's such a cool story and uh the the only person that I probably got more attention at yesterday's game than Jared Goff. Jared Goff is on the phone with us. Yes. Huge celebrity now. Yes, yes. What's going on?

01:59:20 - 01:59:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I want to start off with some sad dirty, especially if you are a fan of Dawson's Creek. James Van Der Beek has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. He shared that news yesterday on social media saying, despite the diagnosis, there's reason for optimism. He's feeling good. He said he'll say more and say more when he's ready, but he has privately been dealing with the diagnosis, has been taking steps to battle it. It's just really sad.

01:59:48 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, very sad.

01:59:49 - 01:59:52 | Speaker 2:

Definitely an important reminder to get your colonoscopy.

01:59:52 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and honestly, when you get it, it's a tough one to beat, but we're praying for him because there are...

02:00:00 - 02:00:05 | Speaker 4:

you know those that have beaten it so yeah we got to be able to to do all the preventative stuff

02:00:05 - 02:00:29 | Speaker 2:

ahead of time big congratulations to barbie star margot robbie she gave birth to her first child with her husband tom ackerley they welcomed a baby boy together no details on a name just yet martha stewart speaking about having ryan reynolds as her neighbor which actually i did not know that they were neighbors but she says the deadpool star is really not that funny in real life despite all

02:00:29 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 1:

of his comedic roles he's probably on the list just because he covers himself up in his movies and you don't see his face something's not so funny in real is he one of those anyone know something's not so funny in real life no he's not so funny he's very serious very serious really uh

02:00:46 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 2:

he clapped back on social media by the way with a joke like he obviously took this in stride he wrote i would disagree with her but i tried that once the woman is unexpectedly spry she really closed the gap after a mile or so. And then Hugh Dachman chimed in regarding Martha's comments writing, finally, somebody says this. That's great.

02:01:03 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Hi, this is Martha Stewart, and listening to Mojo in the Morning is a very

02:01:07 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 2:

good thing. I can kind of see it, though. Like, if you're just living your day-to-day life, you're probably taking out the garbage.

02:01:13 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 4:

My buddy's friends with Will Ferrell, and he says that Will Ferrell is the nicest guy in the world, but it is not the funny guy that you see in all

02:01:21 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 2:

the movies. Is he actually, like, really reserved in his, like, day-to-day life?

02:01:25 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 4:

Very mellow, very, yeah, calm, good golfer.

02:01:28 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 2:

Drake and Future have squashed their beef, apparently, excuse me. Young Thug's recent ask that the two, I think he threw Metro Boomin in there, too, asked that they bury the hatchet was a significant factor in them ending this thing. Thug wrote on social media, he added Drake, added Future, added Metro Boomin. Ain't the same without us collabing. And apparently it was a phone thing. They got on the phone with each other and just hatched out the differences. And this is a pretty incredible story. A dog that was rescued by a Pennsylvania family following Hurricane Colleen saved that family's lives just two weeks later. The family rescued Rusty, who was one of the hundreds, thousands of lost animals following the hurricane. And earlier this week, Rusty alerted the family to a growing fire in their home's kitchen. Wow. Started to jump and tug on the wife's shirt and wouldn't stop. And when she opened the door, the room was filled with smoke. She had enough time to get all of her kids, all of the pets, out of the home before going back in to put the flames out with the help of the fire department. And the family said the damage could have been a lot worse and people could have lost their lives had they not adopted Rusty after Hurricane Helene. It's an incredible story.

02:02:42 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 4:

By the way, let's grab the guys. What a game yesterday. It was awesome to be able to see the Lions beat the Green Bay Packers. And I'll tell you that opening drive by the Lions, Dan Gamble, look at him. He is, like, unbelievable going forward on fourth down like he did. The way that he was able to get Green Bay to go offsides. I mean, that was just genius. But there was somebody that was more exciting to watch than even the game. And that was if you were watching the game, they kept showing the guy that was sitting in the stands that was wearing a Lions jersey, with a cheese grater on his head. His name is David Bodine, and David is on the Mojo in the Morning Show this morning. Are you still in Green Bay, David? Yeah, I am.

02:03:32 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 3:

Outside of, down the street from Lambeau, giving them the Brian Branch double bird right now. I love it!

02:03:38 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. By the way, you were a superstar yesterday. Nice tickets, great seats, and you waited out. You had to deal with that rain. Was that brutal to be there in the rain?

02:03:49 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was pretty rough. I've been coming here a lot, so I've been here for a lot of cold games, a lot of snowy games, but this was the first rain game.

02:03:56 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 2:

What is that thing made out of, by the way? Was it soft or hard?

02:03:59 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 3:

It's like foam. It's basically the same thing as a cheese head. Okay. It was an old Bears fan made it. I bought it like 10 years ago. Okay. That was great.

02:04:08 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 4:

Spectacular. What did the fans, the Green Bay fans, think of your cheese grater?

02:04:12 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, they all love it. You know, I come to Green Bay games in Detroit and in Green Bay, and Packer fans are always like, oh, my God, can I take your picture? So they all think it's hilarious.

02:04:21 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 4:

Somebody was telling me that Green Bay Packer fans might be the nicest fans of all the NFL fans. Is there truth to that?

02:04:28 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they're pretty nice. I heard that. When they lose, they've had their chance, so they're humble. They're taking it humbly.

02:04:34 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

A friend of mine was at the game, too, and he said, he goes, I've never in my life had more respectable people. Really? He says he'll go to Philly, and he said they're total a-holes in Philly. Like, they would have probably shoved that cheese grater right up your arse if you were in Philly. Yeah. That's pretty awesome. So, David, got to go to the game. What an exciting game. Were you at any point scared when Green Bay started mounting a little bit?

02:05:00 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 2:

of a comeback, or did you realize there was no chance, no time left on that clock? Not at all.

02:05:03 - 02:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Not at all. I knew with our run game, we'd be able to run

02:05:06 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 3:

out the clock. What was it like hearing a Jared Goff chant in

02:05:10 - 02:05:23 | Speaker 1:

Lampard? Oh, it's awesome. You know, it's funny. They, like, turned up the music to try and drown out all the Jared Goff chants, or after we scored a touchdown, we'd sing forward down the field, and they'd turn on the music to try and drown it out a little bit. Oh, that's great.

02:05:23 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Buddy, you are awesome. Thanks for going on the air with us. Safe travels back. Are you flying back or driving back?

02:05:30 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 1:

Driving back. I live in the UP, so.

02:05:31 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, cool. So you take, I've always wondered this. Do you take the ferry?

02:05:36 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 1:

No, no.

02:05:38 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 2:

Because somebody doesn't.

02:05:38 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 1:

For me, I live in Houghton, so it's actually Detroit's the furthest NFC North team for me to get to.

02:05:44 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Somebody told me that the ferry is the best way to go. Like, they actually have done that numerous times going, and it's actually a lot of fun.

02:05:52 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 1:

It sort of depends. Yeah, I lived in Madison for a bit. But if you're, like, in Milwaukee going to the west side of the state, it's easier. But if you are in Detroit trying to go pretty much anywhere, it's easier to just go through Chicago.

02:06:03 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 2:

David Bodine, you'll be at more games. Will you be coming to Thanksgiving wearing turkey legs on your head?

02:06:08 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 1:

No, I'll be at my in-laws for Thanksgiving. But I'll make sure to wear the cheese grater head for them. The Terrell Packer fans.

02:06:15 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 2:

Shout out to the in-laws. We appreciate you, David. Go Lions.

02:06:19 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, go Lions. FTP.

02:06:22 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 4:

Missed something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com.

02:06:28 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 2:

I'm playing dumb, but what did he say?

02:06:30 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 4:

He said FTP.

02:06:31 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was B. No, he said B.

02:06:33 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Packers. Blank the Packers. I felt like an idiot. I was like, what does that mean?

02:06:40 - 02:06:46 | Speaker 2:

I like that. I like that. All right. Danielle is a winner. Congratulations, Danielle.

02:06:47 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:06:49 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Danielle, we are setting you. Oh, boy, that's a lot of air in there. Cav, you might need an inhaler on that one.

02:06:54 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 3:

02:07:38 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 2:

What are you? I got to. Do I have time? I don't know if I have time. I don't think I do. Let me. We've been more than an hour without a commercial break. What's going on? I got to go to the bathroom really bad, and we haven't done a commercial literally in an hour and a half, hour and 40 minutes. When we come back here next on the Mojo in the Morning show, I got something cool for you.

02:08:03 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Coming up on Mojo in the Morning.

02:08:04 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 4:

You'll hear this. This is very, very careful.

02:08:07 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 2:

All right, when we come back here next on the Mojo in the Morning show, the woman that wanted to go back to my hotel room on Parents Weekend in Michigan State and East Lansing and asked me right in front of my wife. We'll talk about that. And are you ready to get a negative campaign ad? This might be too hard for people I feel like we don't have thick skin On the show sometimes Anytime a listener writes a comment on social media Or says something verbally There's some people that can't take it They're going to have to Because in moments The negative campaign ad is coming out Anybody nervous? I'm a little nervous Megan you nervous?

02:08:52 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 3:

No not at all

02:08:53 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 2:

Get ready By the way Let me show you guys the negative campaign ads real quick.

02:08:58 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean, so?

02:08:59 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 2:

Because I'm going to show you them the length so you can see who's got the longest of the negative campaign ads.

02:09:06 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 3:

Did Eric do these? Our buddy Eric Arthur.

02:09:07 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 2:

Eric did them. Ready? Here are the negative campaign ads right here. Ready? Yeah, I can see. There is mine. There is Megan's. There is Kevin's. There is Shannon's. Look who's got the longest of all the negative.

02:09:22 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 3:

Well, you and me. By one second. By one second.

02:09:26 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 2:

By one second. Kev's only got a 35-second commercial.

02:09:31 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 3:

What the heck?

02:09:31 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 2:

I can think of a lot more than 35 seconds to tell you negative about Kevin. We'll be right back.

02:09:35 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning on iHeartRadio. iHeartRadio!

02:09:39 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning. I was looking for election coverage music. You know how they always have it, like if you watch any of the TV news stations? The fake news, as Donald Trump would say. If you ever watch, they always have Decision 2024. That's good.

02:10:01 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 4:

Let's go to George Stephanopoulos. They always have that kind of music. I found this bed. I don't know what it's for. It's in John Davis' commercial pile. But isn't this a great bed? It's so good.

02:10:17 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 2:

It's perfect.

02:10:18 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 4:

Who will win?

02:10:19 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 2:

This is like when they do the updates of when the polls come in.

02:10:24 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 4:

Let's go to Dana Bash. Hi, Dana. Is it Dana or Dana?

02:10:29 - 02:10:31 | Speaker 2:

I would like to be Savannah Guthrie.

02:10:31 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 4:

You'd be like Savannah Guthrie?

02:10:32 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, look at you. And she does a lot of the election.

02:10:36 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 4:

Does she? Does she work for NBC? Yeah, I'll tell you what. Watch out for those guys on NBC. You see that? They ended up hosing Trump over the weekend by having Kamala on SNL. Didn't give an opportunity for equal time. Well, then they had to.

02:10:51 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so if you saw that really long Trump commercial during Sunday Night Football on NASCAR, that's why. Because of SNL.

02:10:57 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 4:

Is he satisfied by that, or is he going to be upset by that whole thing? What do you think? I wouldn't be satisfied. Would you want to be on SNL, or would you want to be on NASCAR? Tell me. Tell me. What would you want? Nah, yeah, that's pretty clear. I would want to be on the Mojo in the Morning show. How come no ads? Oh, we do have ads, I guess, huh?

02:11:15 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning has tremendous ratings. That I can tell you, but they're not as tremendous as mine.

02:11:21 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 4:

Of course not. You guys ready for some negative campaign ads? I feel like, can I tell you something? I'm going to say this. If you're a politician, if you are a politician, and you want to win an election, put a positive ad out there. And when I say this to you, I say this to you, and it's too late. I should have given these guys the advice ahead of time. This is for all elections, even the guys that are running for the local ones, which honestly are the ones that really matter, I think, the most to us. I would have a positive ad. I would put one and say, say my opponent is Blaine Fowler from 96.3 WDVD. I'd go Blaine Fowler from 96.3 WDVD. They're a radio station across town. They don't have very many listeners, but that's okay. But hold on, that's a negative ad. I would say, he's got a really nice smile. But vote for me, because smiles don't matter. You know what I mean? Like something like that. Don't do the negative stuff like, he's going to kill you. you know she she's going to she's going to take all your money and you're not going to be able to afford Meijer groceries you know like all that stuff like these negative things what it happens is it goes in one ear and out the other and then I sit there and listen to them and I go do we really honestly even trust the negative campaign ads half the time I feel like they're all a bunch

02:12:41 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 2:

of bogus I don't trust any single campaign ad from any party any candidate I don't it's so funny Like if you have kids, you know, if you have kids that watch YouTube, it's even all over the kids, the kids channels. And I found myself saying to Lucy and Smith the other day, I was like, you guys, any campaign ad do not believe anything they say ever. I'm like, when you're old enough, you research everything because it's all your kids asking who you're voting for. They are obsessed with trying to figure out who I'm voting for.

02:13:10 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 4:

My dad was very vocal about who he voted for and why he voted. My dad immigrated from Cuba. So to him, it was very important that we all voted. You'd be very upset if they're coming with me tomorrow because I think it's important

02:13:22 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 2:

to show like, you know, that it's especially as a woman, is it legal to let them do the

02:13:27 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 4:

little color in the box or is that illegal? It's illegal. It is illegal. You have to be the one doing it. You're the voter.

02:13:34 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 3:

I have never done it then when I was a kid.

02:13:36 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, of course not. Because I would like to let.

02:13:39 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 3:

Why is my eye one eye twitching? I would like to.

02:13:43 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 4:

Because I think that would be kind of cool to let your kid like kids love Sharpies. anyway right um you know what we have to do we have to get all the rumors that are out there like to dispel the rumors because somebody was saying that you cannot use a sharpie marker matter of fact i heard somebody say that a sharpie marker is actually the preferred item to do it and then i also heard people say you cannot bring in a uh a sample ballot uh in there or even notes from campaign people like they said that somebody was saying that somebody said you can't bring in an ipad like i would love to know what all these rules are like if there's rules like

02:14:16 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 3:

that yeah you can use your phone you can look up notes i don't know about like campaign articles like i don't think they can hand you stuff but you can well there can't be any signs within 100

02:14:26 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 2:

feet of a polling place i know that so i'm assuming that it's the same for right i wonder

02:14:31 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 4:

if aaron at 655 can can tell us since he's oh yeah we should have talked to him um call aaron up and ask aaron if he knows any of these answers aaron you know it's funny as he says he's working the polls when you're working the polls i also believe sometimes at my polling place i can tell who they voted for and who they want you to vote for how uh only because of the little mustache

02:14:56 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

that the guy has wait okay he's got a little teeny

02:15:00 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 3:

like, scrudgy mustache, and I'm like, there is no way. Hold on. Aaron, quick question for you, Aaron. What do you do, actually, at the polling place?

02:15:09 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 1:

I am a poll chairperson, so I'm kind of overseeing my team and making sure that we are running a fair and safe election, getting ballots casted. If anything goes wrong, if someone needs help getting their ballot into the tabulator, we're there to assist. We check in everybody. So, you know, when you get there, you fill out the word application. You give the stickers. You give your ID. Yeah, we've got someone giving stickers. Do you have to be unbiased? Yeah, we're not allowed to wear anything. Actually, you're not allowed to go to any polling.

02:15:38 - 02:15:48 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you're naked in the place? This is unbelievable. I want to come to yours. He's working that poll. You're working the polls and naked. This guy has got it going on. I need to go to Grand Rapids. Bring singles, please.

02:15:49 - 02:15:49 | Speaker 2:

Bring singles?

02:15:50 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 3:

So you can't have like a button on that says, you know, Harris Waltz or Trump dance?

02:15:57 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 1:

You can't as a voter either, right? No, you may not as a voter.

02:16:01 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 3:

You cannot bring in, you cannot have a sign saying who you voted for.

02:16:06 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 1:

Nope, you're not allowed to bring in any t-shirts, buttons. If someone has on, let's say, one of those infamous red hats, we have to ask them to go put it in their car or take it off.

02:16:14 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 3:

What if it's a red hat that says nothing about Make America Great, it's just a red hat?

02:16:19 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 1:

If it's a big red hat, white letter that says Mojo in the Morning, I will shake their hand and thank them for being a faithful listener.

02:16:25 - 02:16:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so it just can't say the candidate's name or anything that deals with candidates. All right, here's a question. Can I bring an iPad in with me to vote?

02:16:33 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

You sure can. I brought my phone in two days ago to early vote and pulled up my ballot from online and looked at everyone that I already pre-selected.

02:16:40 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 3:

And this was a rumor that was going around that people who use Sharpie markers will not have their votes counted. That's a bunch of BS, too, right?

02:16:48 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I don't have an actual answer on that, but we provide pens. We have to use those pens.

02:16:53 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 3:

um i'm not i'm not because you know people are germ freaks since covid like they freak out over germs i know a lot of people like to bring their own stuff in there do they put pens or markers

02:17:02 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 1:

inside of those things and we have we have pens at our polling precincts okay um so if you're a

02:17:09 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 3:

germ freak bring a pen bring some sanitizer and a mask okay quick question about uh this can i play music while i'm doing it i would like to have uh music in your headphones you can play all the

02:17:20 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 1:

the answer that you want don't blast it on your phone for everybody else to hear so you so so you

02:17:26 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 3:

got you can wear headphones in there like i can i be on the phone with somebody and talking to them

02:17:30 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 1:

while i'm doing it or no yeah if chelsea needs to help you remember who you're voting for really you can be in your ear yep okay yeah all right are you yeah go ahead you can take what's that you can take a picture of your yeah you can't take like a selfie or like a photo of the full you know like of other people voting or anything of that nature um but michigan does allow for someone to take a picture inside their polling booth of their ballot has anybody ever leaned against that thing and knocked them all down does that ever happen i haven't i had that happen at my precinct yet thankfully and uh fingers crossed we don't do that tomorrow all right well here's

02:18:08 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 3:

what i i know that there's one thing that we all can agree on right this is bipartisan what is bipartisan are you by by the way are you by by the way uh erin i want to know

02:18:19 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 1:

no i am not by if you know any single labs out there gentlemen okay all right good i just want

02:18:24 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 3:

to make sure but you're bipartisan though right you can be bipartisan when you're working the

02:18:28 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 1:

polling booth correct we are fully bipartisan okay good all right we have to have a balance so if anything goes wrong two people from each part or one person from each party

02:18:37 - 02:18:46 | Speaker 3:

has to help that single voter okay if there's one thing that is bipartisan and we can all agree on And that is the ads that are on the radio and television are annoying as F, right?

02:18:47 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Yeah.

02:18:48 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 3:

So that's why we decided we were going to have Eric, with the help of Lydia, who, you know, and Zach, too. Zach helped with this, too. Big Zach. Come up with negative campaign ads about members of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Would you like to hear him?

02:19:06 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, let's hear him. I'm excited for this.

02:19:07 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 3:

All right. Let's hear him. Here we go. Negative campaign ad number one.

mojo loving husband and father he claims he's into family values but would an advocate of family values say this i've gone to men i love five guys or this i love the look of the vagina or this i never have the ability to pull it out fast enough when i want to and even if he did have real family values, he couldn't begin to communicate them.

02:22:09 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 2:

There we go. There we go. I love mine. That was hilarious. Low-key, my subway jacket in the car right now. All right, hold on. Hold on. The person on the show that literally no one says a bad thing about. That's not true. But you know secretly inside she has got a smelly belly button. Will we find out about that tomorrow at all? Or Wednesday when we do the contest?

02:22:37 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 1:

I think that would be slightly strange if I made you sniff my belly button.

02:22:40 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I get to sniff the strangers, the listeners belly buttons?

02:22:44 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 1:

I'll let Megan or KP or Lydia sniff it. Okay, all right.

02:22:47 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 2:

Even though I'm the belly button expert, I found out about this. All right, here we go. So Shannon, you have the second longest commercial, that is, negative campaign ad for this contest here that we're doing with Eric. And we'll have to, by the way, thank Eric. Get Eric on the phone. Can you see if Eric's available? Right now, I believe, right now he's doing Donald Trump on a radio station in Argentina as we speak. I have no idea why it is that the people in Argentina would like to hear Donald Trump, but here we go.

02:23:18 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, longtime co-host of Mojo in the Morning. Always smiling, always has it all together. But in reality, she's out of control. As a mother. When I woke up, I could not make this up. Smith's hair, he's seven, was purple. And as a dog owner. I was walking my puppy, Beau. We got his nuts chopped off. She thinks she has everybody fooled. But we know better. I will F you up, bitch! Squeaky clean Shannon. She's dirty and not just on the 30 Your junior morning pack is responsible For the content of this advertisement

02:23:59 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 2:

She's dirty and definitely not on the 30 Oh that is good Give it up for Eric He did a great job Eric He's amazing He's not answering I'm telling you I guarantee you Donald Trump is right now doing an impersonation Or Joe Biden Who knows I know he does not do a Kamala Harris impersonation. Although, if he needs to, to keep food on the table, Eric will figure out a way to do it.

02:24:28 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 1:

Should we ask Aaron whose was most accurate?

02:24:30 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 2:

Yes, Aaron, whose was most accurate? Who would you vote for? Megan's gave me a good laugh. I'm voting for Megan. Okay. The F-10 babies have to end, too. That was funny. Look at that. All right, one vote for Megan. And she has always been on life. I am. Aaron, thank you, buddy. Great job doing your civic duty and making sure that everybody has a nice, clean, fair election. Okay?

02:24:56 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 1:

It's important. It's a civic duty for all of us.

02:25:02 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 4:

Yes. And there's no voting today, right? The early voting ended on Sunday night or something like that, right?

02:25:07 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 1:

Early voting ended Sunday today. They're prepping everything for tomorrow, getting all the tabulators ready and bench clean.

02:25:15 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 4:

Tabulating the votes. Ryan Seacrest is going to announce the winner. They should, by the way, do it. Why is it that American Idol can have their votes all tabulated and everything all... Oh, hold on a second. Hold on, Aaron. Wait a second. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30s.

02:27:44 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with What's Trending in the Dirty on the 30s. Shannon, hello.

02:27:47 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 6:

Hello. This was trending over the weekend. Cardi B had a little bit of an awkward teleprompter mishap at Kamala Harris' rally on Friday. The teleprompter had a technical glitch, and she, poor thing, did not know what to do with herself up on that stage.

02:28:05 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 7:

One second, guys. One second. Okay, so I don't take lightly the call. Sorry, guys, I'm a little nervous. I'm a little nervous, guys. I've been waiting for this moment this whole life, my whole life. I need patience over here. Patience, where are you, girl?

02:28:48 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 6:

I need patience over here. Somebody finally handed her a phone so she could read. She could read all of the notes.

02:29:00 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 4:

Why didn't somebody come up there and save her, like one of the other people come up there?

02:29:03 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 6:

No, I mean, it was giving me anxiety.

02:29:08 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 4:

It's wild, the teleprompter thing. I had to use a teleprompter for that event I did at University of Michigan. I can't read. You know that. I can't read if I have it on a piece of paper in front of me, let alone look at a clear screen where you can see right through to people. It's impossible to see this damn thing. So I have to memorize anything I say or just say it off the top of my head.

02:29:31 - 02:29:32 | Speaker 6:

Or have paper notes.

02:29:33 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 4:

I'll turn in to Cardi up there.

02:29:34 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 6:

You'll be calling for patience.

02:29:36 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 4:

Not patience. So calling for me to get off the stage, that's what they're calling for.

02:29:39 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 6:

It was the smash herd around the country. Jason Kelsey obliterated a heckler's phone on the Penn State campus after this fan used a homophobic slur about his brother, Travis. This is what happened when Kelsey was walking around with students on campus for college game day. Kelsey, Kelsey.

02:30:00 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 1:

Kelsey, can I get a fist bump? Kelsey, can I get a fist bump?

02:30:12 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 2:

Turned around, grabbed the kid's phone. Threw it on the ground. Smashed that boy. But then, allegedly, Jason Kelsey asked the kid, who's the, and then use the same homophobic slur now.

02:30:31 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's not alleged. You can clearly see what I'm saying in the video. He definitely said it.

02:30:35 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so the video I saw, that was out.

02:30:37 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 3:

I'll see your video. He definitely said it. I don't blame him for throwing the phone and doing that. Obviously, you shouldn't have said that word, but man, when you get it in your face like that.

02:30:46 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 4:

He said, who's the blank now?

02:30:48 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:30:49 - 02:31:00 | Speaker 4:

First off, he had an open can of beer in one hand while carrying the open case of beer in his hand, Turned around, grabbed the guy's phone, smashed it in a pirouette style. I see why he's a Hall of Famer. He should have been a running back.

02:31:01 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 3:

He should have not been working on the line, right?

02:31:03 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 4:

I'm just questioning the pirouette. He had talent. This guy's got skills.

02:31:07 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 2:

02:33:10 - 02:33:12 | Speaker 4:

I can't wait to see how the Motown Museum recognizes him.

02:33:13 - 02:33:16 | Speaker 3:

They should do something huge. Will they do something for him? They have to.

02:33:16 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 4:

He is Motown.

02:33:17 - 02:33:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I hope that they do. I've not been down since they redid a lot of the Motown Museum.

02:33:24 - 02:33:35 | Speaker 2:

I just went for the first time earlier this year. It is the coolest experience. Whether you're from Detroit or not, it is the coolest experience. All right. For all of today's ready, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or major in the morning.

02:33:48 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness. Thank you so much. I'm so excited. My heart is racing. I'm shaking right now.

02:33:54 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 3:

Who are you most excited to see? Which one of the artists are you most excited to see?

02:33:58 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm excited for Jack Harlow.

02:34:00 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:34:01 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 1:

I know my wife loves him, too, but if Teddy Spencer's going to be there, Definitely number one.

02:34:06 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 3:

Channel 955 Jingle Ball, presented by Capital One. You heard that Gage is excited for Jack Harlow and Teddy Swims, but also Jason Derulo, Saweetie, Madison Beer. And then we announced this this morning, Gage. I want to introduce you to somebody. You hear the commercials on our show. They're the commercials we love to listen to. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da Kia, the Summit Place Kia. Da-da-da-da-da-da-da.

02:34:28 - 02:34:33 | Speaker 1:

Summit Place Kia. Yeah. Yeah. I grew up on that. I sing that in my head almost daily.

02:34:34 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 3:

Say hi to Tanya Lalonde from Summit Place Kia.

02:34:36 - 02:34:38 | Speaker 1:

I love you. Hi, Tanya.

02:34:39 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations.

02:34:40 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 1:

How's it going?

02:34:41 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 3:

Tanya. Thank you so much. Tanya just also announced this morning, we're giving away a brand new Kia Telluride valued at, what did you say this morning, Tanya, $50,000 plus?

02:34:54 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 6:

No, no, no, for $50,000.

02:34:56 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 3:

That's unbelievable. Oh, my God. So you're now in...

02:35:00 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 1:

They're running for that. Everybody that, you know, wins a ticket, buys a ticket, or if you come down and register at the radio station, is up for that. And then we're going to pick the grand prize winner, Gage, up on stage. I'm assuming that we'll do it, Tanya, right before we bring the headliner up on stage. Wow, that's incredible. And you'll be there. You're going to have to help me out like that. No, no. Wait, Tanya, do you get nervous in front of people? A little bit. I don't think you're going to be nervous at all. You're just going to be in front of, you know, 30-some thousand people. I don't know how many people that Little Caesars has. A lot of people. Lots of people. I'm nervous. Making it a lot better, Mojo. Yes. But, Gage, I'm so excited for you. Yeah. Tell you, Gage on stage has a nice ring to it. Gage, could you imagine if you win that thing, Gage, while you're going to get, like, a beer at the concession stand? I'd love to hand you that key. Honestly, I lost my truck less than two weeks ago. Oh, no. I need a new vehicle. Oh, this would be perfect timing. Fingers crossed. Come see us at Summit Place Kia. Yeah, and in the meantime, if you do need help, I'm going to tell you something. This woman can get you financed. She can get you a car, okay? Absolutely. I was already thinking about coming in there soon. Yeah, come see me. Hold on one second. Tanya, I'll connect you with them, okay? Sounds awesome. All right, hang on the phone, guys. We'll get you set up. Hold on one second. Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back. Being a Detroit Lions fan has literally never been this fun. This is Mojo in the Morning. mojo in the morning show hey hey hey hey had a great weekend we had uh parents weekend up in east lansing for luke michigan state parents weekend it was a lot of fun man i have to tell you you guys may win like football championships in ann arbor but your parents don't drink like the parents in East Lansing do. Holy Christ. Were you coherent or did you have your one drink and you were well on your way? No, no, no. I got told, I got told that's enough. You know what? That's enough means that's enough. And I learned that. And I was so glad, by the way, that everything happened, you know, early. Like a Friday, I went crazy and I woke up with the worst hangover on Saturday. And then Saturday, so we tailgated at Theta Chi. Theta Chi? As it was, Kev says. That's where Luke is. luke's a uh a fraternity kid over at theta chi and um they had such a great tailgate first off i love luke's friends i absolutely love them uh he's got the best roommates in the world noah and ass juice are the greatest which i gotta talk about ass juice i think i might do it tomorrow's show because ass juice there's a great uh a great story behind ass juice luke's roommate can you just call in his name is we talk about it tomorrow i asked him for his phone number and he told me that he doesn't give phone numbers on the first date. The kid is so damn funny. But, oh my God, well, speaking of numbers,

02:38:00 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

can I tell you this one? So we're staying at the hotel, all right? And we're coming back. There's parents partying like in the lobby of the hotel. They're partying on the streets. All the bars between Rick's and Harper's. These parents, these parents are worse than these kids. it's crazy how how much partying is going on so we're we're going back to the room and it's kind of really i mean she's a hot mom i don't want to say how hot mom is but she's it's chelsea's listening she's a relatively attractive lady okay that's there and asked me if she can come up to my hotel room with me how did this conversation happen we were walking so we're going you know back to the hotel room and she kind of comes up and she goes oh where are you going And I go, I'm going to my hotel room. She goes, can I come with? And I said, only if she says it's okay. And I pointed to Chelsea, who was like way out in front of me. And she goes, I'll come up with both of you guys. And I'm like, oh. Damn. And I thought to myself, I'm like. I would like to have a threesome with you. No, I did not think that. Does that excite you at all? And you did not know this lady? No, no. She was a listener because she had said that she loves. She goes, I love your show. That's the funniest thing. when they say I love your show after she just asked if you can come up to the hotel room with which by the way I will say this to you I was kind of flattered by like I don't know what it what it is until our friends were with us Leah and Dennis I found out that we were in the car ride I found out that Dennis also got asked to go up if she can come up to his room trying to smash air yeah hold on I wonder if Dennis would listen is listening right now or because they're leaving they're flying out they live in california dennis is like i'm moving to michigan these guys these people in michigan know what's going on uh dennis's son is um max who's like our he's our our second uh second

02:40:00 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 4:

Michigan State son but I was I was like wait a second I wasn't special well I mean she asked you first or second she asked him first I found out he was in front of me he's not going to answer

02:40:13 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 3:

Dennis

02:40:17 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 4:

hold on let me call Chelsea and find out if Chelsea's listening which by the way has anybody ever been asked in the lobby of a hotel to go back to somebody's room or to come up to your room it is the most exciting thing ever there is something kind of cool like literally i got turned on like in a second there and then i'm like chelsea this is like the hello chels tom i tried to call i tried to call dennis because i wanted to talk to dennis we're talking about the the woman that wanted to

02:40:47 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 1:

come back to our room yeah i didn't see her because um i walked right past but here talk

02:40:54 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 4:

to dennis about it okay put dennis on the phone for a second oh hello hi buddy what's going on

02:41:02 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 2:

say hi to everybody hey good morning everybody what's up dennis dennis i kind of was excited

02:41:09 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 4:

until i found out that i really wasn't like specially picked i'm talking about the woman that asked to go back to our hotel room explain how it happened to you well i was walking through the bar uh stone sober yeah yeah sure sure he was seriously yeah he's not drinking at all yeah

02:41:28 - 02:41:59 | Speaker 2:

what hold on a second i'm getting yelled at by leah oh i was trying to walk away from him so anyways i'm walking across the bar stone sober probably looking pretty good as i do and uh a blonde cutie from across the room came over put her arm around me and says want to have a good time and i said well there's my wife right there i mean i'm kind of paraphrasing some of this yeah i did take a moment though and looked at her and said what is going on so and then i shook her

02:41:59 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 4:

off to my friend tom wait i just want you to know how disappointed i was i was so excited because i was a little bit lagging behind as i was saying hello to a couple people that i that i recognized and then she did the same thing to me and I was so bummed out that I wasn't special, Dennis, that she chose you before me. I was your sloppy seconds.

02:42:23 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she was just looking for twice the fun is what she was looking for.

02:42:29 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 4:

Do you honestly think, what do you think a kid, Megan and Shannon and stuff, you guys obviously went to college, what would you do if you... She sounded like a negative. What would you guys do if you found out that your parent on parents weekend ended up having a relationship with another parent on parents weekend die is the

02:42:49 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 2:

only answer while the other parents were looking for him in the hotel right right it was crazy wasn't it hey nice to meet you i'm your new dad parents weekend sound wild listen i'm constantly

02:43:03 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 4:

02:44:39 - 02:44:40 | Speaker 3:

I went here with Jeff.

02:44:41 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 4:

Question for you. Is it not every guy's dream to have a girl that they meet in a hotel bar come up to their room? Maybe because of porn and stuff? Actually, if you recall, at your pajama party, it came with a buddy, and he ended up with one of your listeners in his hotel room. Really? You remember I told you.

How am I shaming? I'm not shaming. My wife was shaming me for thinking that I was special. That's why she told me Dennis had the same thing I have in him. You were special. Thank you. She could have went to any other guy in there. She chose you. How do I know that she didn't go to any other guy? We don't need to talk about that.

02:46:34 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 4:

Right, exactly. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live Got a couple

02:46:52 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 6:

Shout outs and stuff I'm going to do Coming up here in a second First though, Shannon, how did everything go With Jimmy's opening of his restaurant?

02:46:59 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, can I just Take like one minute to talk about this? So if you follow me on social media Or if you follow the Mojo page actually You saw the photo Of me And Wes was there too But my friend Jimmy who talk about like a true story of the American dream. Jimmy came here from Mexico with like next to nothing, started as an Olive Garden server and a host at Mexican Village, is an incredible chef, started making tamales, which are the best I've ever had, selling them out of a cooler, then bought a food truck, the Tres Leches food truck, which has come to my family reunions, my neighborhood block parties. And then over the weekend, And we cut the ribbon with Detroit Mayor Duggan on his brand new restaurant in Mexicantown. And it was just the coolest thing to watch this happen over the years. And Jimmy, to be there to support him and see him and be able to speak about this incredible man. His story is a wild story. And his wife Juanita and their sons.

02:48:07 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 6:

Explain, because this is not just a restaurateur getting a restaurant.

02:48:11 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 2:

No, that's what I'm saying. I mean, I just explained, like, he really had this dream and has spent years trying to make it come true. And so now he has this restaurant, and you need to go there. It's called Tres Leches. It's at 3400 Bagley in Detroit.

02:48:26 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 6:

Isn't it nice?

02:48:27 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 2:

You will not be disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant. It's so fun. The food is out of this world. So it was just, it was really cool to see and to be a part of on Friday.

02:48:38 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 6:

Whenever I hear people that have this, like, dream that they're going to do something, like start a business and then they start the business it's just to me that's the that's the american way you know what i mean like that it's like only in america just stuff like that happen yeah i'd love to know uh if there are any other people out there that you know sharing this have ever thought of that you know and all of a sudden started a business and now they're hugely successful yeah i mean i got to cut dan gilbert give us a call with him i got to cut

02:49:04 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 2:

the ribbon although jimmy had very very little scissors there was no big pair of scissors even And the mayor was like, I've done this many, many times. I've never seen smaller scissors in my life. And then we had to release like doves, I think.

02:49:15 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 6:

You released doves? Wow.

02:49:17 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 2:

You guys, honest to God. Terrifying. Terrifying experience. Wow. I was so scared I was going to hurt the bird. But.

02:49:23 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 6:

Hold on a second. Hold on. Look who's on the phone with us right now. Jimmy.

02:49:28 - 02:49:30 | Speaker 1:

What? Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy.

02:49:30 - 02:49:30 | Unknown:

Jimmy. Jimmy.

02:49:30 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 1:

Jimmy. Jimmy.

02:49:31 - 02:49:31 | Unknown:

Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy.

02:49:31 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 1:

Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy. Jimmy.

02:49:33 - 02:49:44 | Speaker 6:

Jimmy, congratulations to you, brother.

02:49:44 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

So proud of you. Gracias, gracias, gracias, gracias, gracias, gracias, gracias. Mojo, Tomas, Shannon, all of you, gracias, gracias. This is reality. This is a drink.

02:50:00 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 4:

through you have to fight for whatever you want in life no matter what you have to move on i love no matter what you have to move on especially after the pandemic you are my padrinos you are my mentors you are the people to give us every single day of our lives that little kick for we can continue to live in

02:50:25 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 1:

this world. Wow, Jimmy can I tell you this is awesome to hear this man makes the best tamales ever, now he's got to sell his whole restaurant with unbelievable food but explain to me, what does the doves mean? What's the symbolism of

02:50:43 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 4:

the doves? Oh, that's a great story The things at the end

02:50:49 - 02:50:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like releasing the doves, explain that to me

02:50:53 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 4:

okay one of the things every day we have to thank thankful and grateful for what god no matter what religions religions are disciplines okay no matter what and the situations that we live in every single day yeah we have to say thank you just for you and me put it this way You being in a hospital, you being in a tough time with your heart, it's pumping. You remember that I told you, tic-tac, tic-tac. Just say thank you because we're breathing, because we're smiling, because we get mad, because we get happy every single day we have to enjoy. So in appreciation to God, to the Spirit, just give to the life. Oh, my God.

02:51:45 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 3:

So we sent our thanks up to God.

02:51:48 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 1:

That is spectacular. That is what a great piece of symbolism, but what a beautiful honor to do. I love that about you, Jimmy, is that you're a faithful man, but I also love the fact that you're a guy that does not let something hold you back. You take risks. This is a huge risk, but you know what? We're going to make sure our listeners are there and that they are supporting you.

02:52:11 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so Taqueria El Rey and Tres Leches, they say together is better. So they're now in the same building in Mexican town.

02:52:20 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 1:

And we're going to be down, by the way, we're going to be shutting you down for some partying and tequila when we're down in Eastern Market. Imagine how many times we're going to be eating that for lunch and dinners.

02:52:32 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Lots of very important people over there, the management, the mayor, the manager from the Eastern Market. Oh, yeah, I met her on Friday. But to every single of you, every single of people that listen to you right now, without them, we are nothing. Today's day, we have to collaborate every single each other. If we don't help each other today's day, companies, between companies and companies, I don't want to say the bad word, the F, but you know, we have to help each other today's day. We're living today, papito. I love you, Jimmy.

02:53:13 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Somebody on the phone with us right now. You experienced this. Romina, is that you? Hi, yes, that's me. You experienced the beauty of having an idea and taking it to the next level?

02:53:26 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. First, I want to say congratulations to Jimmy and his family. That is a great accomplishment. And luckily, my family is going through the same thing as well. We have a small taqueria in Madison Heights, Tiana Mexicana, and we're actually opening up a larger restaurant with a liquor license, finally. And that's going to be right next door, and it's called Tacos Tequila y Mas in Madison Heights as well. But we're super, super excited. It's a great accomplishment. It's been a lot of hard work. Amazing.

02:53:52 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And you know what? There are plenty of bellies around to be fed by this wonderful food. Absolutely.

02:54:01 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 2:

There's opportunities for everyone, and I think everyone deserves their chance, and I'm super excited for him.

02:54:07 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 1:

That's great. Isn't that cool? I love that. It's cool to hear that. Jimmy, I've known you for a long time, my friend, and I want you to know this. This is going to be the first of many that you will be opening up. So get ready, my friend.

02:54:21 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 4:

And we're here to generate, listen, we're here to generate love every single day. At the same time, if we don't do love, the entire things that we have to do on the third single basis day, we F, you know? So, keep going. My wife, Shannon, just... Shout out to Juanita. Juanita, she almost passed away last December, mojo.

02:54:49 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Oh, man.

02:54:51 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 4:

In 36 hours, I was in Mexico, and I get boomed back to here to continue. And unbelievable.

02:55:00 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 1:

This is another story, but Juanita, she knows. She carries every single day on our lives a little oxygen machine. It wasn't for the inventor that got created. Those people, the entire equipment for the hospitals. How can we live? I'm diabetic. No matter what, guys, you have to keep going, to keep fighting, to keep having. Every single day. Don't throw the towel, guys. Amen. Ever at all.

02:55:28 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 3:

Jimmy for president. I'm voting for you Jimmy

02:55:31 - 02:55:37 | Speaker 1:

Shannon repeat

02:55:37 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 3:

where the restaurant where it is

02:55:39 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 2:

so it is Tres Leches and it is at 3400 Bagley in southwest right there in Mexican town La Gloria Bakerie is right across the street if you know where that is

02:55:49 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 3:

and I want trade for we actually if our sales department goes over there and asks for trade I will kill them

02:55:55 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 2:

no do not

02:55:56 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 3:

we burn so much trade And this poor guy, we don't need, we go and spend cash there. That's right. Real quick, Jeff Sack was in studio. He brought in a friend, too. And Jeff, will you come up here and introduce us to your friend? This is a young guy, by the way. How old is Matthew? How old are you, Matthew? It's not my kid. I don't know. How old are you? I'm 33. You're 33? This guy was running for judge. Oh, very cool. On the appellate courts in Michigan, in Oakland County, or where is it?

02:56:28 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 5:

So it's a statewide office, but it's elected in districts. Mine is Oakland, Macomb, and Genesee Counties. Holy crap.

02:56:34 - 02:56:35 | Speaker 3:

And you're 33?

02:56:35 - 02:56:39 | Speaker 5:

I'm 33. Where'd you go to school? Harvard undergrad, and then Columbia Law School.

02:56:40 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 3:

True slather. I went to Spec School of Broadcasting. No, I didn't. Not to Columbia, you went to. Yeah, I went to Columbia College in Chicago. How dare you? Wow, that's pretty wild. And so Matthew Ackerman is running. And Jeff, how do you know him? How do you know this guy?

02:56:56 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. So I know the whole family. Like, talk about a family of high achievers. I met his dad by accident. I did a prank on him at the NCAA tournament and kept his dad up all night. And then his sister had a medical issue. I didn't know it at the time. And now, of course, what she do, she's a pediatrician, right, helping kids. And his other brother helped me with my campaign. I hope he did this better for you than he did for me. And he's another attorney. So just a wonderful family that does everything right, kind of like a TV show.

02:57:30 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 2:

That bar is high, huh?

02:57:31 - 02:57:36 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Matthew, where is this on the ballot when we're voting? Is it on the...

02:57:36 - 02:57:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the nonpartisan section. So it's not Democrat, it's not Republican. It's nonpartisan, as judges should be.

02:57:43 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So Matthew Ackerman is his name. I actually met Matthew a couple of times. Matthew is dating one of, remember Grant, who was in the studio before, who's got the hots for KP, and we told him. Oh, the golfer. Yeah, golfer. He's good people. Grant's sister is gorgeous, and Matthew is dating Grant's sister, and she is a OB resident, right, over at Michigan Medicine.

02:58:08 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

Exactly, yeah. Wow.

02:58:09 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 3:

All right, Matthew, good luck to you.

02:58:11 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 5:

Thank you so much. Yes, sir.

02:58:12 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 3:

We can't endorse, but we can tell you if Jeff Sackwood knows you, you got to be good. Can I ask him a question? Yeah. Why should we vote for you?

02:58:20 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 5:

Well, can I give like a 30-second pitch? Will you give me that? So the Court of Appeals is where you go when you think the trial court made a mistake on a difficult legal issue. It's all reading, research, and writing, and that's exactly what I love to do, and that's something I'm really good at. I'm kind of nerdy, as you can see from that background, but I love doing the legal research and writing. And if you have a case that's really difficult that you think was handled incorrectly on a tough legal issue, I'm exactly who you would want to be reviewing it at the Court of Appeals.

02:58:47 - 02:58:57 | Speaker 3:

Gotcha. Yeah, and I believe that we run commercials for him, but I've heard that you're being supported by both Democrat and Republican, so it's not like it's a partisan thing.

02:58:57 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm endorsed by a bipartisan majority of the Michigan Supreme Court. There are a lot of races where both people have endorsed me, such as John James and Carl Marlinga, both endorsed me.

02:59:05 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 3:

Wow, and they're running against each other.

02:59:06 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 5:

They're running against each other. Governor Engler, Governor Blanchard, both endorsed me. I'm a Democrat and Republican.

02:59:12 - 02:59:24 | Speaker 4:

I've never been more positive and happy that someone of his caliber at his age he's taking a huge pay cut that's what he's doing. Can I say something too? He'll be on the U.S. Supreme Court we're in those new studios you'll say

02:59:24 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 3:

that guy was in our studio. But can I say this real quick? You don't see judges that are 33 years old and this is our audience. Honestly I would rather be judged by somebody that is a peer of mind. Or even understands the world we're currently living in. Believe me. Does anybody actually finish one of those caramel apples?

02:59:44 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 4:

Really? This is Mojo in the morning.

02:59:48 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 5:

It's the second date update. A mojo in the morning.

02:59:51 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to find out what's going on with second date update. If you don't get a call back after you've been on a date, text DATE.

03:00:00 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 1:

To 95500, we'll get you on Second Date Update. Princess is getting ghosted. How do you ghost a princess? Hi, Princess. Hey. How you doing? Good. So Princess is actually not getting a call back after she's gone out. And how long has it been since you've talked to him?

03:00:25 - 03:00:26 | Speaker 2:

You know, it's been a minute.

03:00:26 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 1:

are you bummed about this or did you kind of sense that he was that type of guy that was going to take you out once and then never call you back

03:00:35 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 2:

i definitely sensed it yeah i love you where are you from by the way we just had a georgia listener where are you from yeah i'm from the south okay i never heard of it a little you know what no tell me what town is it i'll put it on the map no no you it's just a little old town so you know and people be making fun of it no no what what state are you in

03:01:01 - 03:01:18 | Speaker 1:

what state am i in yeah what state oh yeah i'm in georgia in georgia okay all right we got to go to georgia the devil went down to georgia mojo in the morning is going down to georgia too all right so what was it uh you guys went out on a date and what ended up happening

03:01:18 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 2:

like nothing really i mean nothing really he was just regular playing you know he you know it's whatever but you were shocked that he completely blew you

03:01:35 - 03:01:38 | Speaker 1:

off it sounds to me like you didn't enjoy it as much as he probably didn't enjoy i'm trying to

03:01:38 - 03:01:59 | Speaker 2:

decide why why you were reaching back out for their date if you just said it was meh i mean because I just don't understand, you know, why he, you know, hasn't reached back out and stuff like that. Because, I mean, everything was cool. It was cool. But, you know, I don't know what happened. I mean, he didn't get none. So, I mean.

03:02:01 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 1:

He didn't get none at Georgia Beach.

03:02:02 - 03:02:19 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys, was there, like, any, like, did you kiss? Did you, how was it left? I mean, he leaned in. I mean, we hugged and stuff. And then, you know, he, it was a light little, you know, peck of peck, you know, on the kids. But, you know, nothing more than that.

03:02:19 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 1:

By the way, we can't say pecker on this radio show. Once you go a little north of Tennessee, no pecker talk on the radio. Real quick, I'm going to find out what's going on for you. I love, love, love, love that this Mojo in the Morning Show can be heard across the world on the iHeartRadio app. I always thought that if I ever did a morning show In Georgia I would all of a sudden find myself getting an accent I would just start talking with an accent

03:02:45 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 2:

Take it from somebody who did That's right Did you do that? You start saying y'all

03:02:49 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 1:

Y'all, what's happening, y'all? You start saying y'all Derek is on with us right now Derek, will you say hello to Princess?

03:02:57 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, um Hey

03:02:59 - 03:03:07 | Speaker 1:

Derek, how could you not call this lovely lady back? What is up with you?

03:03:08 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 3:

I was... I don't know. I mean, I've just been busy, I guess.

03:03:17 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 1:

So you've been busy. That's the only reason why you haven't called her back. Did you have a good time on the date? She sounded like it wasn't an extraordinary date. She didn't do anything with your pecker, but she actually had fun.

03:03:31 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it was all right. Like, you know, I wasn't, I mean, I was trying to just, it was all right.

03:03:41 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 1:

It was all right. It was okay. So it wasn't exactly what you were hoping it would be. And if it were what you were hoping it would be, you would be, or it would be, you probably would have called her back.

03:03:53 - 03:03:54 | Speaker 3:

I think so. That's true.

03:03:55 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 1:

Did anything?

03:03:55 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 2:

But what were you hoping?

03:03:57 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what were you hoping for?

03:03:57 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 3:

i mean she was trying to if she was trying to do something you know because i uh she told me that she or at least she she had a profile that she was open to short term and then when i met her she said she was mostly long term i wasn't into that so you just wanted to hook up plain and simple that's it i mean it was it was just something that she said she was open to she she

03:04:35 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 2:

put on her profile so you wait i mean short term like we ain't got to run down the aisle and get married right away but i mean not like one night only what's wrong with you i mean you had nsa in your profile no strings attached so but did you discuss this ahead of time like when you were dming or setting up this date was that in the plans or did you just read on the profile because i know like for my hinge there are people who have short-term long-term fully committed like all as options like they're open to multiple things is this something exactly

03:05:12 - 03:05:26 | Speaker 9:

it depends on the person who you meet right no we didn't discuss it beforehand he's just going off the profile so you think i'm some like you know get down for whatever please

03:05:26 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 5:

Well, you also didn't have, you had like filters on your pictures and stuff. So when I asked you, I didn't, I didn't, you didn't look the same.

03:05:36 - 03:05:39 | Speaker 9:

But I'm still fine. But I'm still fine.

03:05:40 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 8:

Okay, wait. So to be fair, if your profile princess does say like, no strings attached, you're not looking for anything long term. You kind of can't blame him for getting the wrong idea. Yeah. Well, you got to discuss it.

03:05:56 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 9:

But right off the bat. It's no strings attached, but a right one. He ain't the right one, but no strings attached. He didn't give me anything and make me want to bust it down that night.

03:06:08 - 03:06:14 | Speaker 3:

See that, Derek? Derek, you got to come to play if you're going to want to get in the game, my friend.

03:06:14 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Short term doesn't mean you take me out and you get it. It still means you have to put in effort, and I'm willing to hook up if we have a connection.

03:06:23 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 8:

I don't know if I've ever heard anybody say short term.

03:06:26 - 03:06:40 | Speaker 4:

I'm on Derek's team, to be honest with you. What? You take her out? I'm on his side. I think, like, when billboards are there to advertise what it is that the business is offering. So in my mind, if I'm going on a profile and I see somebody that says short term.

03:06:41 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 2:

Right.

03:06:41 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 4:

And then they say no strings attached.

03:06:43 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm thinking they want to smash it. You still have to put in effort, right? Like, this isn't a paid service. That's why they went on the page. Like, this isn't, like, the back of, you know, Craigslist. And you're saying, let me call you up, schedule a time, and here's where the money will be laying at the end of the night, he still has to put in effort that he did not put in.

03:06:59 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 3:

Princess, what were you hoping that you would get out of Derek that would make it more fun for him?

03:07:07 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 9:

I mean, I just, you know, his energy was just off. I think he, you know, like as far as he kept, his conversation, he kept talking about like leading back to sex or something like, you know, so what's, you know, your favorite position instead of like, what are my favorite things to do?

03:07:25 - 03:07:27 | Speaker 8:

There was no substance to the date whatsoever.

03:07:27 - 03:07:30 | Speaker 3:

What is your favorite position? You asked that question on a date, Derek?

03:07:31 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 5:

Nah, that's not true. I wasn't asking all that. I was trying to be subtle, you know? I was trying to be like, okay, so...

03:07:38 - 03:07:44 | Speaker 1:

How do you be subtle and ask that? Yeah, you can't. My buddy. So, back door, front door.

03:07:45 - 03:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Nicole wants to comment. Nicole, what's up? Second date update.

03:07:50 - 03:07:59 | Speaker 9:

Morning, guys. Good morning. He knew from reading that profile, which it should have been specified, but he already knew it was going to be a smash and go. See?

03:08:00 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but he didn't give her anything or any reason to smash.

03:08:04 - 03:08:26 | Speaker 4:

Right. Do you have to? Yes, she's not intended to do this. Maybe I got Tinder confused, because I'm thinking if you guys short-term, long-term, or short-term in the bio, you got no strings attached. The reason why we don't like each other or swipe is because we want to smash. So when we get to the date, it's time to smash. But you have to put an effort.

03:08:26 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 3:

That's wrong, though. You got to be at least a fun date, right?

03:08:29 - 03:08:33 | Speaker 2:

Then you're talking about escort services. Exactly. That's not what she is.

03:08:34 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 3:

Fred, what's up?

03:08:34 - 03:08:35 | Speaker 2:

I mean...

03:08:35 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 6:

Hey, we're talking about Mojo and everybody else. Good morning. The original Fred from Detroit. What's up, Fred? The OG is with us.

03:08:43 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

03:08:45 - 03:09:10 | Speaker 6:

Buddy is tripping. Okay, even though she said no strings attached, you still got to put in the words. to even get there. If you go straight in on a date and expecting sex and the only thing you're talking about is sex, you're not going to get it, even if it could go further. But yeah, he's one of the main reasons why it's hard for the genuine guys to get through

03:09:10 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 3:

in dating. She is a southern belle. You need to take care of her. Thank you. Appreciate that, the original Fred. What's up, Deshaun?

03:09:18 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Deshaun? Deshaun, we haven't heard from you in a while. Hey, look, I've been going through some things. Let's see the girl out there. How y'all doing, y'all?

03:09:27 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 3:

We're good, Deshaun. Good morning, man. What's going on?

03:09:29 - 03:09:42 | Speaker 7:

Oh, man, look. I got to say, man, I'm seeing Derek all the way, man. I mean, you guys would have called him a creep or a-hole if he would have been straight forward. But that's why he just went off the profile, man.

03:09:42 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 2:

So what's it got to be? I'm sorry, go ahead. She doesn't have a problem with it being no strings attached. I feel like that's what people are missing. It's not like she put this in the profile and then said, actually i'm not doing that it was i put it in the profile i'm fine with that he wasn't a good enough date to want to hook up with

03:10:00 - 03:10:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have to say, if he's going on the profile, can you really be mad at that? Yes, because you still have to connect with somebody. Why is everybody treating her like she's a prostitute?

03:10:09 - 03:10:37 | Speaker 6:

No, no, I think the idea that some people have is that he showed up to the date and was like, this is just our meeting spot. Let's get out of here and smash. That's not how I'm getting it. What I'm getting it is he went in with an intention and a mindset that this was a foregone conclusion that they were going to smash because she says it in short term. She says it's no strings attached. We're here just to meet And then eventually leave And go smash But when they got to the date It's confusing But when they got to the date She wasn't trying to smash at all

03:10:37 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 4:

Well if you go to a date Because he was boring Maybe we're gonna hook up And then he goes He gets weirdly sexual the whole time Yeah I'm shutting down But you said maybe

03:10:45 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 6:

You said maybe hook up He was under pressure He was definitely What's that? On my profile I have long term Or sure I have it all She's got long term You know you can choose What you want

03:10:57 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 7:

Brad's a gentleman

03:10:57 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 6:

He was trying to

03:10:58 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 7:

Brett's a gentleman. Brett, what did you want to say?

03:11:01 - 03:11:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I learned from my wife real quick because she's from the South. Even though the profile says that, you still got to put work in. Yes. Especially with the girls from the South. It's different in the North.

03:11:13 - 03:11:16 | Speaker 6:

Where's your girl from? Are you calling us easy in the North?

03:11:17 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 5:

Hey, women from the North are a lot easier than the South.

03:11:20 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. They've got to live to Tampa for eight years. Now we're in trouble. Now we're in trouble. Brad, everybody was angry at Derek. Now they're turning on you. Princess, I wish you nothing but the best. You sound like a beautiful lady. I hope you find somebody that treats you the way you should be treated.

03:11:40 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to go update my profile right now. Okay. All right.

03:11:45 - 03:11:47 | Speaker 7:

Derek, good luck to you.

03:11:48 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 2:

All right. Okay. How's it going? This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.

03:12:00 - 03:12:46 | Speaker 7:
