It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:00 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 7:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show hello uh we are coming to you live from a very empty ford field i think it's us our great audio people and three security guards

00:03:26 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 6:

Wait, just three?

00:03:28 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Well, maybe no. I think that's all I saw. Are important people listening right now? Well, we are doing a broadcast this morning for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, and I'm assuming that some of them might be driving down here right now. This might be my only opportunity to run on that field. Go.

00:03:44 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh.

00:03:45 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 7:

I want to go with you.

00:03:46 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh.

00:03:47 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 7:

You got to do it naked, though.

00:03:49 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 6:

All right, deal. There's just like 17 layers all sucking this in right now.

00:03:53 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 7:

Do it in Spanx.

00:03:54 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 6:

All right, deal.

00:03:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 7:

You may be the only person that has ever done it in Spanx on the field. Could you imagine? Welcome to the show that we're broadcasting. I don't know how the audience, how does it sound, by the way? Are we sounding okay today? I just want to make sure we have broadcast capabilities for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. But I ain't going to lie. Sometimes when I do these live broadcasts in all the years that I've been broadcasting, it's a toss-up. I have no idea what it sounds like out there in radio land. So will you call us and tell us how the microphone sounds? This is the actual live mic check that we do. So I guess what we're doing here today is, honestly, I have no idea. Colleen, our boss, the president of iHeart Media Michigan, Colleen Grant, we love her to death. She never asks us to do anything. She says, I am on the board of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, and I would be forever grateful if you guys would broadcast your show live from Ford Field, which I thought, oh, this is kind of cool. I'm thinking. Fun.

00:05:00 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 2:

In a Lions game? Yeah. No. No. On a Thursday in November in front of a bunch of future broadcasters. Which is so cool. And I thought, did you clear it through the other people at the Michigan Association of Broadcasters?

00:05:17 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 1:

Do they want us? Are we good examples?

00:05:19 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

Have they heard the content of this radio program? Are you sure you don't want just Shannon? Yeah. Yeah. By the way, Shannon will speak to them later today. I'm honored. It's funny because in all the years that I have been broadcasting, I have never been asked to broadcast from any association of any broadcasters. Matter of fact, I've been told not to broadcast from associations of broadcasters. But here we are.

00:05:47 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 1:

Matter of fact, we've been celebrating you losing awards for associations of broadcasters.

00:05:52 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm one big fat effing loser. That's what I am. I'm the king of – But I'm the Lions pre-Dan Campbell. Maybe this, maybe Colleen Grant is my Dan Campbell. Yeah, but I'm the kid that was cut during preseason. You know, who is that guy?

00:06:11 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

You never heard about him again.

00:06:13 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, I don't know. Let's see here. I'm looking at audio here. I'm looking. Somebody says, audio very low. Who just said that to us? I have no idea who that is. That is Lydia. That is Lydia that just said that. Audio is very low. How low are we? How low can we go? Are you there, Zach? Can you hear me? How do I sound, Zach? Very low. Very low. Yeah, we're working on it. It also sounds like the speakers in here might be a little too loud. Oh, okay. Maybe we turn the speakers down a little bit. We got a little bit of echo. Guys, don't worry about this. Sorry. Oh, I think that's better. I think that's a lot better. How does that sound? Does that sound better, Zach? A lot better. Yeah. By the way, Zach.

00:06:53 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, Zach. You're so, like, very laid back today.

00:06:56 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

and quiet. He kind of sounds like the guys that...

00:06:59 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 1:

Can everybody else hear Zach? Or is it just us in our ears that we can hear Zach? It reminds me of that SNL skit. Like, oh, I love your balls.

00:07:06 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 2:

This shreddy, what is it? Yeah. Yeah, it's the shreddy balls.

00:07:10 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 1:

Those balls are so good. Oh, my God. That's very accurate, Shannon.

00:07:14 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

By the way, if you're wondering where Kev is, because Kev would be the energy to this whole thing, Kev called in sick this morning. He wasn't feeling good yesterday. He actually told us, but he didn't want to let us down, he says. I was on the phone with him for 30 minutes this morning at 4 a.m. And he was like, I feel like I'm letting the team down. I don't want to do this. It's so funny. All I kept thinking the whole time, the entire time, is I've never had anybody that for 30 minutes was trying to talk himself out of calling his sick. And he sounded not great.

00:07:46 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

He didn't feel well yesterday, you could tell.

00:07:49 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

So he was like, I feel bad. I feel like I'm letting everybody down and everything. And I said to him, Michael Jordan would have played. oh you're so mean he had the flu game okay LeBron you know you want to be LeBron you can be LeBron I play like it I'm Michael Jordan I love it by the way how do we sound now do we

00:08:11 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 1:

sound better now my sweet husband who is listening says we sound a lot better okay good cool cool

00:08:16 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Zach let's get more of Zach here hi Zach how you doing what up let's go there you go by the way So you have to be Kev then today, all right? Yep. Let me hear air horn. Let me get the horn.

00:08:26 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, oh, you caught me off guard.

00:08:30 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 2:

But you remember, you got to da-da-da-da, and you go, okay, let's practice. Someone's on the phone. Lester, say Lester. Lester's on the phone. You got to hit the ding, though, at the same time. You got to hit the ding. All right, I got it. Here we go. Ready? Ready? Oh, my God. First time, long time. My name is Lester. Lester's on the phone.

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Unknown:

There you go.

00:08:49 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

All right. All right. We're good. We're good. All right. Well, let's begin. Let's begin, folks. And by the way, Lydia, I have no idea how we're doing the call-in part. Send me that because I didn't bring my iPad. I'm a mess today. I did text that to you. You did? Oh, good. I'll get it. Don't worry. I got it. I am kind of a mess today. Don't hold me back. Chelsea, text me. Megan and Shannon sound good. Maybe that she's just a –

00:09:18 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Chelsea.

00:09:19 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Maybe I don't. Maybe I'm not very good. Okay, here we go. All right, here we go. This is our call sheet. We're doing it live. We're doing this live. Hold on. Amber, can you hear me, Amber? Good morning. Good morning. Good to you. What's happening, Amber? Hi. Oh, you're just like way far back, like in a closet. Like you're hiding is what it sounds like. Well, I'll be honest with you. There's something I need to tell you. I'm a little scared of people. I'm hiding in the closet this morning. Are you ready to come out of that closet? Honestly, maybe. And it would be a broadcast, an MAB moment here this morning. We will do that. Does it sound better at all or no? Do I still sound like I'm in the closet?

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, now that I have my radio turned down and I can only hear you guys live, it's better on the phone. So I'm assuming if I can hear you on the phone, it's probably better on the radio.

00:10:10 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 1:

All right. Maybe there's something here. Check a one, two. Check a one, two. How's that, Zach? Is it better? Am I out of the closet? You're still in the closet, but it sounds good.

00:10:24 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

Could the guy just come out of the closet, please?

00:10:27 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 1:

Give it up for Zach, everybody.

00:10:32 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

Giving himself applause. I love it. He's humble, too.

00:10:36 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. All right, I just want to make sure we sound okay today. We want to make sure. Here's the problem, Amber. We're kind of in a little bit of a weird place. This is a bunch of professional broadcasters, and, like, I'm walking up and down. I see Odyssey is going to be here, so I have no idea. Maybe, I don't know, maybe I get to see Mike Villeney. I love Mike Villeney. So I hope he's here. I saw that Midwest broadcasters, I think they own radio stations like Lansing and Grand Rapids. Those guys are here.

00:11:06 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

A lot of the colleges are sending people, too. So cool. Like, I see Grand Valley.

00:11:11 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I saw Lawrence Tech. I saw, I think, Michigan State.

00:11:14 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 3:

Wayne State is over there.

00:11:15 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 1:

Wayne State. So what it is, Amber, is I think that there's a bunch of high school broadcasters, like, you know, with some of the kids from probably maybe Bloomfield Hills radio station, which they got a great radio station.

00:11:27 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 4:

I did not know they had one.

00:11:28 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they got a great one. That's cool. Honestly, they got better equipment than we do in our old building that we'll be getting out of. So thank God. But, Amber, these guys are going to come down here, and they're going to see us, and they're going to say, maybe we should go to, like, medical school or something. You know?

00:11:47 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that law degree is looking a lot better.

00:11:50 - 00:11:50 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:11:50 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 1:

What do you think? What do you think, Amber? do you think that we'll entice them to continue to want to be a broadcaster, or do you think that these kids are going to nursing school at Madonna by the end of this whole thing?

00:12:01 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it's a toss-up. However, I think you're going to lead them in the right direction. So I think radio is going to be in their calling if they continue to work with you guys.

00:12:09 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, thank you. Thanks for giving us a pump-up there. All right. We'll talk to you later, Amber.

00:12:15 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 3:

Have a great one, guys.

00:12:17 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 1:

T, what's going on, T?

00:12:18 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 2:

yo you guys sound like you're on a cable access show but to be horrible that's the quality of

00:12:29 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

content we bring every day i love it just coming out he's like sounds terrible by the way i keep

00:12:35 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 2:

you keep asking if it sounds better that doesn't make it better

00:12:39 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 1:

t you know what would we be one of those cable access shows where the guys talk about video

00:12:46 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

games the entire time and we probably still want to hear you oh we i i love i used to love i actually

00:12:55 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 1:

Ooh, we could. Should I do that?

00:13:45 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 3:

But I'll swap with you.

00:13:46 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. If you want to swap, I'll come out of the closet for that.

00:13:49 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 4:

No, my God. Chelsea, good Lord.

00:13:51 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you want to be next to Shannon?

00:13:53 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 4:

That's what it really is. Yes, that's what it is.

00:13:55 - 00:13:56 | Unknown:

What about this one?

00:13:56 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, we're done. Okay, I don't, you know.

00:14:00 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:14:00 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 3:

This is the earliest we've ever gotten to a broadcast, too.

00:14:03 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I like the equipment, though. I'm not going to lie to you. It's nice equipment. It's fancy. It's really good stuff. All right. Who else we got on the phone here? Anybody else on the phone?

00:14:12 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 5:

These are my favorite breaks to do, by the way. It's just like we're just talking to ourselves. It's just us, even though I think there are people listening.

00:14:18 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 1:

I don't think we do have listeners this early in the morning. I think we got Amber and T, and I think they're the only two.

00:14:24 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 5:

And Wes and Chelsea. And Wes and Chelsea.

00:14:26 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Wes is sending notes, too.

00:14:27 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 4:

Wes is sending lots of notes. Yep. He was on his way to the gym. He is at the gym now. He said, Tom's mic is popping. He gives the best notes. Your background audio is overpowering your mics. Okay. Yeah.

00:14:45 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Hold on a second, sir. You're walking around Ford Field, and it looks like you might have food from a concessions area. What is that? What do you have there?

00:14:56 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 4:

I love that this man is completely clear. He's old.

00:14:58 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

He probably can't hear you.

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 5:

Excuse me, sir. Are you going into Lefty's Cheesesteak there? Hi. How are you?

00:15:04 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he's so cute. He's wearing a bow tie.

00:15:06 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 5:

Hi. What are you selling today? What do you got? Anything good? Oh, we got something over here. Okay. Well. Bring that tray over here. How do we sound? Do we sound okay? Thank you.

00:15:18 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 4:

I appreciate that.

00:15:20 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. Let's begin the show. What do you think? Should I get this show started? Please.

dirty on the 30. Well, yesterday, Vice President Kamala Harris encouraged her voters to quote unquote, keep fighting as she delivered her concession speech from Howard University,

00:19:22 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 5:

her alma mater. Earlier today, hold on. Okay. All right. I don't think they were ready for me to play this out of my computer. I'm playing this out of my computer, guys. Go ahead. Here

00:19:33 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

you go. Wherever this is earlier today, I spoke with you can't even hear it. You can hear it on this station. Today I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power.

00:20:00 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 5:

She said that while she concedes the election, she does not concede the fight that fueled her campaign, saying we will continue to wage this fight in the voting booth, in the courts and in the public square. Lots of people praising her for a very classy concession speech. Now, last night, Nevada and Arizona were called for Trump, which means he finished the election with 312 electoral votes, the most for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988. Travis and Jason Kelsey talking about that confrontation involving gay slurs and a smashed phone on their New Heights podcast yesterday with Jason saying, yeah, he really, really regrets his behavior.

00:20:42 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 3:

You owning it and you speaking about it shows how sincere you are to a lot of people in this world and shows that, especially what you said on Monday night, that you don't choose. Hey, you know, that's that's that's just not who you are. I love your brother.

00:20:55 - 00:21:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he said his actions did not align with his values. And Liam Payne's body is being flown back to the UK from Argentina to be laid to rest today. His body has been in Buenos Aires since October 16. And if you're asking why, why the heck was his body still there? Toxicology tests. They had to wait until all of the toxicology tests were completed before obviously they could. His body has been in this judicial form, which just sounds silly to me, but he's being taken home for burial by his dad, Jack, who has been in Argentina this whole time, along with Liam's longtime bodyguard. Since the accident, they've stayed there with his body. That's crazy. That's a long time.

00:21:39 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 7:

I felt really bad. There were a lot of people online that were like, do not go to take pictures of One Direction members. Do not go to take pictures. Like, you are not there to see celebrities. You are not the paparazzi. You are not the paparazzi.

00:21:49 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 5:

Celebrities, right? All right, for all of today's Dirty, you can catch it. Yeah.

00:21:55 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 4:

I'm trying to work out the kinks here. I know. You got anything else you want to talk about? How was your night last night? Did you have a good night?

00:22:01 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 5:

You know what? I had a great night at home. I had kept the kids home from their swim practice because we all just needed a rest. It was very lovely. Thank you for asking.

00:22:11 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 4:

There you go.

00:22:12 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 5:

I made salmon and green beans for dinner. Fantastic. Oh, my God. Yep, and brownies for dessert. All right.

00:22:19 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 1:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. Never mind. Sorry.

00:22:26 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

You got me angry. Your call may be monitored or recorded.

00:22:30 - 00:22:31 | Speaker 5:

I should not hand.

00:22:32 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Listen, by the way, why does this happen when we're broadcasting at a Michigan Association of Broadcasters, Young Broadcasters event?

00:22:43 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 7:

I think it's a fun way to show that we know how to work with curveballs.

00:22:47 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 4:

These kids are going to listen and go, these yahoos, what are they all about?

00:22:52 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 6:

No, I think it shows even you can do it. If we can do it, and this is what we can do, you can do it too.

00:22:58 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 4:

All right.

00:22:59 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 6:

Mark's not there.

00:23:00 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 4:

Zach, quick question. Is Mark our engineer there, or did he resign today? Because I'm wondering if maybe we're left alone on this one, and I should just come back to the radio studio. So what do you think?

00:23:13 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 2:

You know, I don't even know. He went to his office to go check on the levels again. Here he comes. You want to talk to him?

00:23:20 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 4:

No, we'll talk off the air. Let's go. China's a winner. China, pick up line 28 there. China. Yes. You're a winner. Congratulations.

00:23:31 - 00:23:32 | Unknown:

I can't believe it.

00:23:33 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 4:

You got Jingle Ball tickets. You're also in the running for a 2024 Kia Telluride, all courtesy of Summit Place Kia. Everybody. Everybody. not just the people that buy tickets to go to Jingle Ball and win tickets to go to Jingle Ball. Everybody has a chance to win. Available entries. Go see rules on our website for details. 00:24:05 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:24:06 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 4:

Hot like hell, China. Hot like hell. Teddy Swims. We'll be right back with more Mojo in the morning.

00:24:12 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I can barely hear you.

00:24:13 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 4:

That's all right. I can barely understand what I'm saying, too. But hold on one second. Cheating is a choice, not a mistake. Don't be fooled.

00:24:20 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 1:

Another War of the Roses is after 7 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:24:26 - 00:24:29 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55.

00:24:29 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 1:

5 at 6.55, yo. 5 at 6.55, yo.

00:24:34 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

5 at 6.55. So Shannon, Megan, KP, myself, Lester, Scooby-Doo, Shaggy. Stephen, how you doing, buddy? You doing all right? Stephen, by the way, you've witnessed worse from us, haven't you? This is better. This is better than it has been in a while. Derek, are you there, buddy? Yeah, I'm here.

00:24:59 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Derek.

00:25:00 - 00:25:13 | Speaker 1:

Welcome back, Derek, everybody. Zach, we use the loud crowd applause too much. Go to the right of that one. Let's give him just a little soft clap. There you go. Soft clap.

00:25:13 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 2:

What a fancy offense.

00:25:15 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 1:

And then go to the one right next to that one and do another softer one. A little softer one, maybe. No? Oh, no, that's a good one. That's a heavy one. Derek, how you doing? I'm doing fine. How are you? Fantastic. Derek, you're coming for number two now. We had to take a break yesterday and had Aaron on with us. Amber is your challenger. Let's welcome Amber, guys, from Lapeer. You work for a mortgage company. Is it one of the big ones, UWM, Quicken Loans, or are you a little private guy that we love?

00:25:47 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 2:

We are a private guy that you love.

00:25:49 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 1:

Who's that? Plug them. Plug them.

00:25:52 - 00:25:53 | Speaker 2:

Mortgage USA and Troy.

00:25:54 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 1:

00:26:02 - 00:26:05 | Speaker 1:

Amber, how are you? I like this guy's voice, by the way.

00:26:05 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 2:

I know.

00:26:06 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 1:

Soft and sultry.

00:26:07 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 2:

Call me every night before bed, please. Oh, that was too far on the show? Okay. All right.

00:26:14 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 1:

00:31:18 - 00:31:18 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

00:31:19 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 1:

All right. In honor of the old man's birthday.

00:31:21 - 00:31:30 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the mornings. Five at 6.55. Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:31:31 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 1:

Maria, who is it that you think is cheating?

00:31:34 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 3:

My husband.

00:31:35 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

And why is that?

00:31:38 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 3:

Combination of things. The biggest factor is a very large amount of money is missing. He's been making withdrawals and stuff like that.

00:31:50 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 1:

So is he charging your credit cards or charging stuff to your bank where you can actually see what he's spending money on?

00:32:00 - 00:32:11 | Speaker 3:

No, it's like cash advances, cash withdrawals from our savings. Sometimes it's like small amounts. Sometimes it's larger amounts.

00:32:12 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 1:

How much money has been missing?

00:32:15 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 3:

in the last year i've calculated about like five thousand dollars wow and have you asked him about it no i haven't asked we've always been like really honest about our finances and and you know we don't say hey you know can i spend a hundred dollars or can i do this like we just trust each other so you know i look at our accounts but i've never asked questions and then it just kind of all clicked recently and i went kept just going back and back and seeing these withdrawals and adding it up and how was your guys relationship um it's always been good i mean we've been together for five years now um but lately like The other thing that's kind of leading me to believe this is, you know, sexually, we just haven't been connecting. He's more distant as a partner just in general. And I don't know, I'm just scared. Like, my gut is telling me something.

00:33:26 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 1:

What is your fear? Your fear that he has another woman in his life or your fear that he's doing something they shouldn't be doing?

00:33:33 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. But, like, I feel like there's someone else, but I don't know if it's, like, a full-on cheating. I don't know if he's doing that OnlyFans or paying somebody for sexual things. I don't know. I don't—it's beyond my comprehension.

00:33:55 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 1:

Has there been any infidelity at all in your relationship?

00:34:00 - 00:34:14 | Speaker 3:

Nothing that I've ever been aware of. Nothing on my end and nothing that we've ever confronted together. No suspicions, nothing, nothing. It's always been really good until now.

00:34:15 - 00:34:27 | Speaker 1:

Let's call him up and see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Can you mute your phone and promise us that you're going to keep it muted until we actually bring you on and talk to you?

00:34:28 - 00:34:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay, yeah, I can do that.

00:34:30 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 1:

All right, mute your phone. We're hoping that the roses go to Maria.

00:34:48 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

00:38:39 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 4:

Um, somebody I know.

00:38:42 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 2:

I know, but who is she to you?

00:38:45 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 4:

Uh, it's not important to what's happening now. What? These flowers?

00:38:49 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, she's on the phone with us right now and just heard you send flowers to another person. Maria, your suspicions are pretty accurate.

00:39:09 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 3:

yeah

00:39:12 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 4:

I don't really know what to say right now I'm sorry

00:40:00 - 00:40:14 | Speaker 1:

Maria's husband, who's been hiding some cash, sends the flowers to somebody else. Maria? Hold on one sec.

00:40:14 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 2:

your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system

00:40:59 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:41:08 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm an automated calling assistant recording this call for the person you're trying to reach. Can I ask what you're calling about?

00:41:15 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry? I'm looking for Gino.

00:41:24 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 4:

Thanks. Connecting you now. Hello? Gino? Yeah.

00:41:34 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning. You hung up on us.

00:41:38 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 4:

I know I did. Please stop calling me.

00:41:40 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 1:

well, you're not going to not be able to talk about this because your wife is on the phone with us right now. We're going to continue to keep on trying to call that number of the, who is it that he sent? Alexandra. Alexandra. and find out exactly how he was able to meet her and we'll try to get to uh obviously he hasn't met her or how he's been able to communicate with her can i and i know this is a horrible situation for you to have to deal with is it better that you he hasn't met her does that make it feel knowing that it's not like and we bust people cheating all the time but to maybe know that it's just somebody he's paying, who knows, from a, you know, a porn site or something?

00:42:43 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Like, it's just a different type of, like, deceiving heartbreak. I don't know. It's like asking me if the other woman is a friend or a stranger.

00:43:03 - 00:43:31 | Speaker 1:

I know. I know it's a bad question to ask you. I'm sorry about that. But I just I like I sit there and every week we do this and we we have people that find out that their spouse has been in long term relationships. And I know it's just as bad, but I'm going to I'm going to have you hang on for one second. OK. OK. Mojo in the morning. Heather. Hi. Hi.

00:43:32 - 00:43:42 | Speaker 3:

I think he is being hustled by someone that's catfishing him and it just costs him his relationship because regardless if he's met her or not or not, that's cheating.

00:43:43 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I don't, so you think the catfishing thing, I don't know. I'm to me, I don't know if it's a catfishing or if it's, he's got some cam girl or he's doing some kind of an only thing. I don't know what exactly you would even call it, And I felt bad, by the way, and I know that some people are upset. It's funny. Listeners crack me up because they get upset about some things sometimes that, to me, they should not get upset about. People are upset that they don't like the rock music that's played in the background of the War of the Roses. They're more concerned about the rock music. But then there are others where I get their point. Maybe it wasn't a good thing to ask her. maybe it was insensitive to ask her like okay should we you know is it okay i mean because honestly the first thing that i was thinking of the whole time was if if i my spouse is cheating on me i'd rather my spouse not have a relationship with somebody that they can actually physically touch or right or possibly possibly know their name you know right so can i tell you what i'm

00:44:48 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

upset about though yes i've never once thought of picking up my phone as my own self-answering system yeah wait was that him was that can i oh that absolutely was him and i need you to know that that is the

00:45:00 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 7:

funniest thing that has ever happened during war of the roses you don't think that was a recording you think our cell phone we called a cell phone correct the one that we called the first time that it didn't answer like that and then all of a sudden after he got caught it's this is an answer

00:45:15 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 3:

wait gino go go back on that one rewind on that one and and uh and get me that hold on a second It's the best thing. Yeah. All right.

00:45:31 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Hi, I'm an automated calling assistant recording this call for the person you're trying to reach. Can I ask what you're calling about?

00:45:38 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry? I'm looking for Gino. Thanks. Connecting you now. I mean, what? Come on. Was it? I don't know, Megan. That was kind of wild. That's crazy.

00:45:54 - 00:46:07 | Speaker 7:

You don't think that was him scared crapless trying to figure out a way to not talk to us? The fact that he committed to the thanks connecting you now is absolute gold.

00:46:08 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 3:

Marlene, what did you want to say? Where are the roses?

00:46:12 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 6:

I want baby girl to empty her account right now before actually whoever's on the other line gets all her money. because it's Billy or Charlie or something because dude is spending his money on somebody that he can't even be with.

00:46:29 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 3:

You're absolutely right, and I believe that she needs to be very, very careful with her finances right now, knowing that he's taking money out.

00:46:37 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 6:

A lot of money. And Megan, I 100% agree. Dude is slick. She needs to just cut her losses. I'm usually with the guys that you guys call, but I'm 100% on the female side

00:46:49 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 7:

this time. Barleen, isn't it almost scary how quickly he came up with that plan? Like, it is actually hysterical, but it's creepy to know how fast that came to him. Who even has that on their phone?

00:47:01 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 1:

It could have been like one of those. At first, I thought it was like one of those Google numbers. That's what I thought, too. Yeah, and I don't know if you have the option to personalize it, but is like OnlyFans cheating? Like, for real?

00:47:11 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 3:

That's what I wanted to ask the listeners about. Is this an OnlyFans thing, and do you look at it? i think it is cheating it's emotional cheating hey cheryl what's up hey mozo good morning

00:47:23 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 4:

good morning war of the roses it's kind of odd that he doesn't know the other person but when you asked him who maria was he never once had said it was his wife oh yeah right why would he not say that you know it's my oh it's just somebody i know he he didn't he didn't know

00:47:40 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 3:

he didn't know where that was coming from he couldn't have his automated guy jump on fast enough at that time uh alex what's going on it's mojo in the morning hi mojo um so i have a

00:47:52 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 5:

different perspective on things i was in an open marriage for a while and my husband did not like going and hooking up with other people he liked it when i did it so it was really weird but like i like to play devil's advocate and these kind of things like yes it's cheating it's terrible it's gonna break her heart but at least he's not running around with some girl down the street like it's almost like i look at like only fans and all that almost like a celebrity crush like it's like a porn star and of course it's wrong but what if you meet them face to face and what if you have sex with them face to face then yeah that's well it's cheating either way yeah um i'm just saying like kevin had just mentioned like is that really cheating like emotionally absolutely physically um if he's meeting her in real life you know absolutely but so if i so if i if i am

00:48:46 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 3:

uh having an affair relationship an emotional relationship with somebody that works at the radio station that's cheating but if i'm having the same non-physical but just talking dirty and maybe getting pictures sent back and forth with somebody that works on only fans but i don't you know necessarily come in contact with uh personally that's not cheating no they're both

00:49:14 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 6:

cheating okay but what i'm saying is it's the lesser of two evils yeah right exactly like i

00:49:22 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 5:

think that i would be more hurt if i knew um you know the guy that i was with was running around with someone at his work than him exchanging messages online especially if he's giving her money and stuff like that it's almost like a sugar baby situation where it's like is he you know he thinks he's getting something out of it that you know whether it's filling that box for him and who it's new who is exciting um you know it's for her i think it just a little bit of a silver lining i always look for the silver lining is like he's paying for it it's basically he wants

00:49:56 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 3:

but it's his wife's money

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 2:

That's wrong. I totally think that's wrong. Absolutely.

00:50:03 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 3:

But the big question that we have to answer, and that is going to be answered by Jen. Jen, answer it for us, please.

00:50:11 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 2:

That digital assistant thing, that's a real thing. It's kind of like a CI thing, like an answering machine, but yeah, it's weird.

00:50:20 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 3:

Wow. All right. I'm going to use this, by the way, just as my voicemail box number. Hi, I'm an automated calling assistant recording this call to the... Mojo. Can I ask you to call yourself? Yes.

00:50:29 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 4:

But it does sound like him. Megan's right. It does.

00:50:32 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 3:

It does sound like him. All right. War of the Roses.

00:50:34 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 5:

The home of the second date update. Throwback throwdown. War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:50:41 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 3:

Hey, real quick. I want to throw something out here before we have Shannon do the dirty. I want to mention that Mojo in the Morning is breaking and entering. Christmas wish. We are accepting letters right now. And we're asking you to be as upfront and honest with us as possible. What can we do to help you get through the holidays? What's going on in your life? Have you been hit with the inflation bug of just trying to be able to put food on the table or making choices of whether or not you're going to eat so that your kids eat? If you're somebody that needs help, we want you to go to mojoswish.org. Send us a quick little note. All you need to do is just say, hey, here's what we're struggling with. Here's what we're going with. I actually, to be honest with you, I'm not a good writer. I voice to text. I'm better at voice to texting. I'm fine with that. Just get us all your information, including all your phone numbers, and we're going to have our Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish team go through these letters. We're doing it this weekend for the first batch, so mojoswish.org, send us your letters. Please, crank that music up. It's Christmas time. I'm Jay Towers, and we're changing the format this morning. By the way, I think that there's big breaking dirty news. He may be changing to Christmas music very soon, I understand.

00:52:06 - 00:52:08 | Speaker 4:

I am not allowed to say anything.

00:52:08 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 3:

You already know?

00:52:09 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 4:

I do know. But I have been sworn to secrecy. Okay.

00:52:12 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:52:13 - 00:52:15 | Speaker 4:

But it is very soon.

00:52:15 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Very soon. Jay Towers will be changing over to Santa Claus.

00:52:20 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:52:22 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 4:

Other breaking dirty news. Look, the Starbucks Christmas cups are out. Oh, my God.

00:52:26 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 3:

And they're cute. Is this the first? Is this the first for Starbucks Christmas Cups?

00:52:30 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I was going to say, I got a gingerbread latte.

00:52:33 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. That sounds like a lot of, I don't know. Is it good? Is it better than the pumpkin stuff?

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I think so.

00:52:41 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. We're broadcasting live at Ford Field, home of our Lions. We're going to explain why coming up here in a second. But this is pretty cool. It's for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. And the president is here. So coming up here in a second, we're going to talk to the president, not, by the way, Joe Biden, not President-elect Donald Trump. We're talking to Casey Jones, the president of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Same security, though. This guy's got a lot of security. What's going on in the dirty, Shannon?

00:53:11 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 4:

So Vice President Kamala Harris formally conceded the presidential election yesterday, urging her supporters to never give up the fight for our democracy. She spoke from her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington, D.C.

00:53:25 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 1:

This election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted for. But hear me when I say, hear me when I say, the light of America's promise will always burn bright.

00:53:47 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 4:

Former President Barack Obama and Michelle released a statement, part of which said this is obviously not the outcome we had hoped for. In a country as big and diverse as ours, we won't always see eye to eye on everything, but progress requires us to extend good faith and grace even to people with whom we deeply disagree. Now, in Related Dirty, I saw this story this morning. Google searches for move to Canada surged as it became clear that Donald Trump was going to become our next president. Internet searches related to leaving the country continued climbing throughout the day yesterday, predominantly from liberal-leaning states like Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Minnesota, and Oregon.

00:54:27 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 3:

Have they ever been to Windsor? I've been there. I don't like it.

00:54:29 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 4:

I was there this weekend. First of all, Canada is amazing.

00:54:33 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

00:54:34 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

00:54:35 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 3:

You're only saying that because you are, A, married to a Canadian, and you, B, go over there because you do illegal things over there.

00:54:43 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 4:

No, I go over there because it's much quicker to shop in Windsor than it is to get to the suburbs. West Square is when we cross the bridge, it smells like maple syrup.

00:54:50 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:54:51 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 4:

It is my homeland. I can smell it.

00:54:53 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 3:

I think it smells like sulfur farts. I don't know what it is.

00:54:56 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. No, people are smiling. I just hear the Canadian National.

00:55:00 - 00:55:01 | Speaker 2:

Anthem quietly playing in the background.

00:55:02 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you, though, that I was watching some of the social media posts, and I get, obviously, people get so worried about what's going to happen and rights and all this stuff. I saw a woman shaving her head in protest, and I'm thinking to myself, that is a commitment. Like, that is a crazy commitment that you're going to shave your entire head because you have to live with it. Matter of fact, you might have to live with it for longer than four years of it never growing back the way that you want it to grow back.

00:55:29 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 2:

That's true, yeah. Speaking of Travis Kelsey got slammed on Instagram yesterday for posting a series of photos pertaining to Monday night's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Well, a chunk of the country was mourning the results of the presidential election. Now, Kelsey didn't endorse either candidate ahead of Election Day, but obviously his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. I almost said Travis Swift. Taylor Swift was in Kamala's camp and the photos that he posted weren't controversial. The timing seemingly was some of the comments from fans included things like read the room, Travis, or I love you. But feel like maybe this could have been rescheduled to post any day but today. Cardi B tried not to reveal the name of her new baby girl when she showed off this. I'm talking fat stack of diamond bracelets on her Instagram. Did you see this, Megan? I did not. I mean, oh, are we surprised? Because didn't culture get like a Birkin bag? Several. Yeah. Several. This is crazy. Well, the internet figured it out anyway. So Cardi was showing off a stack of bracelets, diamond bracelets, created by designer Elliot Eliante. And you can see culture. You can see wave. And then fans noticed a B, an L, an O, an S, and an M kind of like around her wrist, speculating that her newest little lady's name is Blossom. That is very, very cute.

00:56:51 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 1:

how does uh how uh you know that's a lot of money too that isn't it like how did you do yours with lucy and smith did you have anything that kind of like was your like did you get any presents for uh having them in your your belly push presents yeah like did that anything like that happen

00:57:08 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

uh i did for for loose yes okay yep yeah yeah and then i bought and then i bought these by myself my bracelets, which are probably about one billionth

00:57:19 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 1:

of the cost of Cardi's. I feel like a bad human being. I've got three sons and I didn't buy Chelsea anything.

00:57:25 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 2:

I've been thinking about having a kid just for the gift. Is that wrong? Why don't you just buy yourself a gift? Oh, that makes more sense.

00:57:31 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 1:

We got the guy from the 5 at 655 that still wants to come over to your house just to talk

00:57:35 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 2:

to you. And lastly, beware, scrolling on TikTok on the toilet could give you hemorrhoids, people. What? A doctor explains this is because when one's bottom is in the space of the toilet seat, the blood will pool in the lowest point and cause increased pressure in the blood vessels in your booty, which leads to hemorrhoids. So how long is too long exactly, Mojo? Because I know you like to sit.

00:57:59 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea says this to me all the time. She says that it's not good for me to be on the toilet. And also, we have a washlet. It's a thing that fits over your toilet. It's like a bidet. Like a bidet. And I like to get excessively clean through it. So I sit there for like 20, 30 minutes just letting me.

00:58:16 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 2:

Okay, 10 minutes is the tops.

00:58:17 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:58:17 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 2:

Doctors say no more than 10 minutes any longer than that is no bueno. Yeah, because hot girls have stomach issues. That's never going to happen.

00:58:24 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 1:

What is that? Is that just.

00:58:26 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 2:

Can I spend more than 10 minutes sitting there? Oh, yeah. I've spent hours.

00:58:29 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 1:

I got up one time and I couldn't stand on my legs because they were numb.

00:58:33 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 2:

I did my makeup on the toilet this morning. Okay. For all of today's already catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or Modes in the Morning. Detroit Lions anymore.

00:58:41 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 1:

Don't get this person. Oh. Oh, what the heck just happened? Hold on a second. Detroit Lions anymore. Oh, no.

00:58:48 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Good, no. Guess it really was Canada all this time.

00:58:52 - 00:59:01 | Speaker 1:

Hold on a second. Somebody. Zach, did we mess up my little sweeper there? My little sweeper was all messed up. Oh, Zach. Hold on, Zach. You're in trouble.

00:59:02 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 3:

That terrible smell coming from downtown isn't the Detroit Lions anymore. Oh, no. Good, no. Guess it really was Canada all this time. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:59:14 - 00:59:14 | Unknown:

Mojo!

00:59:15 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. We're broadcasting at Ford Field right now, and we're doing this broadcast here because today is the Great Lakes Broadcast and Sports Media Academy. There are a bunch of young broadcasters that are going to be coming to Ford Field here any minute now. Matter of fact, you guys may be on your way down to see us. And here with us this morning is the president of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, Casey Jones. Yes, is with us, Sarah. Thank you guys so much for having me. Thanks for being here today, too. Oh, I appreciate it. Casey, I know you're a broadcaster. Speak right into that microphone there. You can't hear because you've got the headphones. I don't know if the – I can't hear in my headphones anyway.

01:00:00 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 2:

By the way, just to prove to these kids that broadcasting isn't as glitzy and glamorous as it used to be, I want them to come down here and try to work some of this equipment that we're working with right now. All right.

01:00:10 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 3:

That's what today's all about.

01:00:12 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it? Yeah, right. Well, the cool thing with broadcasting, Casey, you're a TV guy, right? You came up in television?

01:00:18 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I spent 15 years in Grand Rapids, worked at Wood TV. I was a sports anchor, news anchor, community affairs director. I cut my teeth on camera.

01:00:26 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Zach, can you hear his mic, or do we need to turn that up a little bit? because I can't hear it in my headphones as well. If you could turn it up a little bit. Yeah, turn his microphone up a little bit, guys. Casey, the one beautiful thing about nowadays compared to even when I, because I'm older than you are, came up. Nowadays, anybody has an opportunity to broadcast through podcasting, through social media, you know, TikTok videos. It's a wonderful world we live in, and I love that the Michigan Association of Broadcasters is smart enough to understand that we still need, though, to have professionals that mentor and are there for these young talent.

01:01:05 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 3:

That's one of the key messages that we want kids to leave with today is that, yeah, you've got a microphone, you've got a camera, you want to be a broadcaster, you want to be a journalist, but you've got to be trained to do it. And so we're fortunate enough to have professionals in this industry from across the state of Michigan who've joined us here at Ford Field to help teach these kids the tools that they need in order to go out into the world and take a cell phone and become a broadcaster, become a journalist, to use those social media tools. I mean, technology is evolving at such a rapid rate, and broadcasting goes hand and foot with the evolution of technology. And so, you know, we're trying to make sure that our industry is at the cutting edge of it, and that starts with promoting it with young kids, high school and college-age kids.

01:01:47 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 1:

What a great event to be able to network and to meet different broadcasters that can then work alongside a lot of these young people and become mentors to them. Like, I love that. I just, I go back to when I was in college and wanting to do this so badly and trying to find those people to look up to and to kind of latch on to, to follow in their footsteps and get advice from them and reach out to them and bounce ideas off of them. So this is just, these events are so important because of that.

01:02:17 - 01:02:43 | Speaker 3:

So important. And that's what we tell the kids today is make that connection, right? I mean, don't be afraid to do that. The people that are here from this industry. We want to help. They want to help. You want to shake their hand. You want to look them in the eye and say, hey, what can I do to make this easier for you than it was for me? And I wish, you know, 15, 20 years ago when I got into this business, I would have had that same opportunity. And how cool is it, too, to be coming to Ford Field where the Lions are playing so well right now, too?

01:02:44 - 01:03:03 | Speaker 2:

So I want to ask you, today is, you said, high school, college age. and a lot of the kids have maybe a radio station possibly in their high school. I know we got in the Detroit area, and I don't know how much, maybe you know more because you live in Grand Rapids. Grand Rapids, a lot of high schools, do they have radio stations?

01:03:04 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 3:

We've got some of our high schools in the area that do have radio stations, but the MAB actually promotes the high school radio project. So we help set up radio stations in high schools. We pay for the music licensing fees. We teach them how to cut the commercials, how to cut the PSAs. We help with the music rotation. We want high schoolers to be active in radio, and we've had great success. East Kentwood is one of those high schools that has really bought in with the high school radio project, and they're thriving with it.

01:03:37 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 2:

I was mentioning to Shannon, Bloomfield Hills High School has probably one of the best high school radio stations in the country. and every year you see awards given out to high schools for what they're doing and to know that the MAB is there for them, I had no idea that was the case because licensing of music is probably one of the hardest things for us in broadcasting why we can't play a lot of music on our podcast and it just costs so much money but to know that you guys are willing to be there for them to help with some of the financial end and honestly, I think our state government should be there more for these schools because it gives them an opportunity to learn a great career that, honestly, I hate to say this, is almost a dying breed right now that we're not promoting enough. And they were talking about this last election was one of those ones where more people turned to broadcasting to learn what was going on and more people turned to podcasting to get to know what the candidates were all about.

01:04:36 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 3:

I think this election cycle proved that broadcasting is more relevant than it has ever been. And today, Jay, if you're here when we have over 1,000 kids pack Ford Field, I think you're going to be excited about the future of broadcasting. These kids want to be a part of it. They want to learn how they can have a future in this industry, and that's what the MAD is doing with this Great Lakes Broadcast and Sports Media Academy.

01:04:58 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Casey Jones. the president of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. I think he called me Jay, though.

01:05:04 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 3:

He did, and I love it.

01:05:05 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 2:

I was going to let it go.

01:05:06 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm dying inside.

01:05:07 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 2:

No, it's okay. They look alike, don't they? I'm sorry. Don't they, Casey? Jay Towers, by the way, is my evil twin. It's my evil side. But that's all right. You can kick me off. This day could not get any weirder than it already has gotten. Truly. I loved that you did that. That was awesome. I appreciate you, Casey. Thanks so much. Thanks for having us out. Thanks for having iHeart out. And Colleen Grant, our boss, is a board member, too. So we love that, too.

01:05:31 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we love having Colleen on the board. She's a great leader. And we are so grateful for you guys being here today. I appreciate you.

01:05:37 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 2:

We really appreciate it. Thanks, man. By the way, that might be one of the greatest things ever, only because, and Casey, I think, feels bad. Don't feel bad. Jay's listening right now because he just heard that we talked about him. So he was in a break on Fox, and he was listening, and he's dying right now, blowing up my phone.

01:05:54 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 3:

You want to know what else is great? is Casey is sitting right next to me, and I have my iPad open, and my memories shift, my photo memories. Yeah. It's a naked baby photo of me posing on the toilet that just popped up as Casey is sitting right next to me.

01:06:08 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 2:

Casey, have you ever wanted to see Shannon's nudes?

01:06:11 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 3:

That's my very first nude right there. You got to see it. I very quickly, like, flipped it, and then I'm like, whatever.

01:06:17 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Casey promised, you promised. Never again. The man promised that he was going to get the Michigan Association of Broadcasters to recognize this show because for it being on the air for 25 years, we've never been recognized by the Michigan Associated Broadcasters. Shannon's nudes got her to be recognized. Thank you.

01:06:35 - 01:06:38 | Speaker 4:

And who's actually going to get recognized? Jay Towers.

01:06:38 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 2:

Jay Towers.

01:06:39 - 01:06:40 | Speaker 4:

The word goes to Jay.

01:06:41 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you, buddy.

01:06:42 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 4:

So wait a campaign for Jay Mojo.

01:06:43 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you so much. All right. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 We got to get to a little sense of normalcy here. I feel like, honestly, this has been the most abnormal morning that we've had in a while only slightly chaotic i mean we've had like weird stuff happening like as far as you know setting up a live broadcast then we had a war of the roses where i'm convinced that the man was playing a trick on us answering the phone with a weird voicemail but it's almost too smart yeah it's it's crazy all right um shannon i saw you out yesterday you were at lucido fine jewelry and you're getting ready for the big holiday push that they've got going on a new promotion i i on your social media you were posting with a bunch of jewelry i understand that you uh you had a very embarrassing moment that happened that i not necessarily think was an accident okay so i it is no secret that i love lucido fine jewelry

01:07:42 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Fran and Joe and Vince and the entire team over there. They're incredible. And every year I get to do like their holiday gift guide and giveaways and stuff for them. And this year we're changing it up. We're doing something a little bit different. But yesterday afternoon, I spent a couple of hours there taping content and videos and all of that good stuff for this year's holiday promotion. And it's so much fun. And it's so much fun, partly because Megan, I get to wear all of the very expensive jewelry that I will never in my lifetime, unless I win the lottery, be able to afford. Now, mind you, Lucido has a lot, a ton of just everyday, very, very affordable jewelry. Yes. But just, you know, because I, because I can, I want to put on like the stuff that I will

01:08:27 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 4:

never own. So that's what I did. I have a similar relationship with Jay Foster Jewelers and I love the guys on there. They always want me to like put a ring on. I'm like, no, I'm not, what if I can't get it off i'm not putting that ring on my head i totally get it yeah why would you not put

01:08:41 - 01:08:45 | Speaker 2:

it on if you can't get it off i would take i would that would be your opportunity to to own it is

01:08:45 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 3:

that is that what i saw the boys now they'd be putting oil on your finger and getting that sucker off so yesterday they were in between the different videos they were constantly changing my earrings and changing my bracelets and changing my necklace which i loved it was so fun um and as when it came time for me to go home you guys yesterday was a very long day and by that point the day I was like I couldn't even tell you my middle name I was so wiped so I go to walk out the door and they're like wait wait wait I still had one of the necklaces I hadn't switched back to my own I'm like I almost walked out and do you believe that it was on no that's when I start

01:09:23 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 2:

running they know where I live Shannon's like maybe I can have it no I truly didn't I would

01:09:32 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 3:

never ever ever do that for them to them but have you ever walked out of a store like accidentally stealing something whether you were wearing it or it was in like your hand or your cart or and then you had to go back in I mean thankfully they realized it before I did but I've had I've

01:09:47 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 2:

had moments where I've walked or tried to walk out but then had security tags on it where the literal security tags would set off things and it was one of those things where and it was at It was actually Nordstrom's, and...

01:10:00 - 01:10:12 | Speaker 1:

I was buying a bunch of stuff, and then I had some things in my hand that I was not buying or didn't want. And it was one of those moments where you grab the bag from the person, and you're like, okay, but you still have it draped around your thing.

01:10:12 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 4:

You're just spaced.

01:10:13 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 1:

And you kind of space out. And to show you that mine was definitely on accident, if you saw me try to put this thing on, you would realize it did not fit me. So it was one of those things. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I hear this happens a lot with strollers. I remember when we would have strollers and we would go through the store. Chelsea and I, when our kids were little, the mall was obviously the only place that you could actually take your kids to. Yeah. Because you could take them to the food court and they can destroy it and you didn't have to worry about it. And our kids would always try to grab things or take things inside of their strollers. Or you'd put them in the stroller thinking that you're going to go up to the—

01:10:54 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 4:

It's like a basket. Yeah. It's like a built-in basket.

01:10:57 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 1:

Text, by the way, a texter at 95500 says, Shannon, if you are going to steal something at Lucido Fine Jewelry, look at their Takori jewelry. That might be somebody that's checking things out. I saw something kind of cool, too, by the way, recently that I wanted to bring up. And this might be a good time to bring it up, too. I saw a Reddit yesterday that was really good. And I want to know if, I don't know, maybe we call Fran or somebody like that or Vince or Joe Lucido and ask them this question. It was a Reddit that I checked out yesterday about a guy who proposed to his fiancée. And when I say fiancée, I put that in quotes. Proposed to her fiancée with a $20,000 ring. Holy crap. Okay. Okay. and she didn't like the ring because the ring was not a real diamond, and I put that in quotes, it was a man-made diamond, which what is a man-made, is a man-made diamond.

01:12:00 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Like a lab, like a lab-created diamond?

01:12:02 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 1:

So a lab-created diamond. Okay. Right. That's a real diamond. She found out, well, she found out that it wasn't a, that it was not.

01:12:10 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 4:

It was not God-made.

01:12:11 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 1:

It was not a. Earth-made, whatever. Because a. I say God-made. Because a non-lab-created diamond would be a lot more expensive, right? The price of it would be more expensive?

01:12:23 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 4:

Lab-created diamonds are, yeah, way more affordable.

01:12:26 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So he actually proposed to her with this. She saw that and said no, gave it back to him, and then said, get me a real diamond, and he actually ended up dumping her because of it.

01:12:39 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 3:

He should have. That is literally crazy.

01:12:42 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 1:

But should he have said to her, this is a lab-created diamond, and she found it out on her own.

01:12:47 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:12:48 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 1:

He doesn't need to say anything?

01:12:49 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 3:

No, it's a diamond.

01:12:51 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:12:51 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 3:

That, to me, just screams other characteristics that I'm, I don't know, are great qualities to have in a partner either. But if the only way you can tell is by putting it in a specific machine that is a camera that turns the image yellow, you can't tell with one of those diamond testers. You can't tell by the naked eye. And it is a great way to make sure that it's coming from a good place. Absolutely.

01:13:15 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 4:

I agree with you, but I don't know if he was trying to pull a fast one on her because you have to insure that stuff at some point, and it's all on the paper. Do you insure?

01:13:25 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's obviously $20,000 you'd insure anyway, right?

01:13:28 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 4:

I would hope you would.

01:13:29 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 1:

But also the other thing, too, is I would sit there and go, all right, he spent $20,000. It's not like he spent like $1,000 buying a cubic or something like that. Christine, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. How are you?

01:13:44 - 01:13:45 | Unknown:

Good. How are you?

01:13:46 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 1:

Christine, I'm having a day, but that's okay. You don't want to hear from me. Thank you for calling. What's going on?

01:13:53 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to say that I was in Scotland with my mom one time, and we went to like a haggis version of Chipotle, and their registers were down, so they had us pay after, but we forgot. And then we just walked out without paying, and we realized like 20 minutes later when other customers in the store saw us on the street and we're like hey you forgot to pay in the restaurant oh my god so we had to run back before they were closed and we felt really really bad and being in another country who knows what their laws are right yeah they were really nice about it but we were like oh my god i'm so

01:14:27 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 1:

sorry what when you go do a haggis version of chipotle what are their items and do they charge

01:14:33 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 2:

extra for guac um well i was it was like my first time attempting like trying haggis so i got the vegetarian kind but they had like i think different meats and stuff but i i got the vegetarian and i what what is haggis i don't even know what it is i've never heard of that before it's an irish dish yeah yeah it's like scottish i think it's like like a stew or something intestines

01:14:56 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 1:

it's like intestines oh jesus stuff oh my god Christine, you're making my morning even worse. My stomach is starting to bother me right now. I picked Megan up on the streets today.

01:15:08 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I love this story, by the way, that she was walking and you pulled over to pick her up.

01:15:12 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 1:

I picked her up on the streets, and I'm convinced the Ford Field security guard thought that I was picking up a hooker. Not that Megan looks like a hooker, but who randomly gets into a guy's car that pulls up next to them on the side of the road, right in front of the courthouse.

01:15:24 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 5:

Remember a couple of days ago when he called you stout? Yeah.

01:15:27 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 1:

I just got mine.

01:15:29 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:15:29 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 1:

put a disclaimer on there but Megan gets into my car and she goes my stomach's uh sick I think I might have the flu so ever since then my hypochondria is going off right now I'm now

01:15:41 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 2:

regretting not vomiting on the floor of your car thank you no I'm not fist bumping you I should

01:15:45 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 1:

01:16:31 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 2:

A lot of people, by the way, siding with the guy. Take up your phone, people. Thank you, Lydia. Is it a day for you, too, Lydia? Because it's a day for us here right now.

01:17:06 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 4:

They're just not answering my calls, but they'll let them ring, ring, ring.

01:17:09 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 2:

Listen.

01:17:10 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 1:

Come on, bitches. Pick up the phone. Lori, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Lori.

01:17:19 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Hello. Can you hear me?

01:17:20 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, Lori? You got a little thief on your hands?

01:17:23 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. First time, long time, by the way. Hey, Lori's on the phone!

01:17:27 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 1:

Good job there, little Kev.

01:17:29 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. We were in Disney World in Orlando, and we were shopping in one of the stores, and our one-year-old in his stroller grabbed a stuffed animal off of the shelf, and we were like, oh, okay, he can hold on to it for a minute. and we continued shopping and then we walked out of the store and then realized that he still had

01:17:50 - 01:18:02 | Speaker 5:

it and we looked at each other and we just kept walking oh you're terrible going to hell aren't you you know yeah did you think in your head though disney has already taken so much of my

01:18:36 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 3:

i'm sorry tell your story so my husband and i were in san francisco and we were on pier 49 They have a lot of shops. And we went in. And this was back when ear cuffs were popular. Oh, yeah. And I was trying them on. And then, you know, we left the store and we went to the end of the pier and we took a photo. And my husband was like, oh, my God, you still have that ear cuff on. And I was like, oh, my God, we have to take it back. And I took it off and it fell into the Pacific Ocean.

01:19:03 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Oh, my God.

01:19:06 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 3:

So we just had to leave because I didn't want them to find us and arrest me for stealing jewelry. Oh, my goodness.

01:19:14 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Yeah. God. You really are such a liar. You put that thing right in your pocket and just pretended, didn't you?

01:19:20 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 3:

I most certainly did not.

01:19:22 - 01:20:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I trust you. No, I'm just kidding. Listen to these text messages, okay, about the lab. 586 says, my fiance got me a lab-made diamond. I actually picked it out. I prefer it. Another text message. By the way, I think I'm having a stroke because I'm seeing things right now in front of me. I apologize. there's like things going on here right now um another 586 says um I would actually dump her if she did what she did I think that's crazy if my fiance actually said that she didn't like the ring I would get rid of her just because it was from my heart and And then another person that said, and where is it at? Hold on. I really liked it. The lab. Oh, here you go. He'll get a man-made vagina. Oh, Lord. Instead of a lab-created vagina. I like that. By the way, if I have to sit like this the rest of the show because my mic is standing like this, I'm going to have scoliosis.

01:20:21 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember when you were a kid? You are so hunched over. Right? Look at this. I'm hunched over. I'm just going to fix it for you.

01:20:27 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 1:

What the F is going on this morning? I got, like, mascots from, what is that? The Utica Unicorns. Who the hell are the Utica Unicorns?

01:20:38 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 3:

I love how you're trying to bring a mascot. Jimmy John's Field?

01:20:40 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 1:

Is that Jimmy John's Field? Jimmy John's Field.

01:20:41 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Yep, yep. You stay right there, though, okay? That many feet away from me. I am very, very scared of mascots. I'm sorry.

01:20:49 - 01:20:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, there you go. We're at Ford Field this morning for a Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

01:20:56 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 3:

It's showtime!

01:20:57 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 1:

All right, got a bunch of show left to go.

01:21:01 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. No, no, oh, no. Oh, Shannon.

01:21:04 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 1:

We have Shannon's worst nightmare happening in front of us. I'll explain it in a second. We got tickets to Jingle Ball. We've got War of the Roses. We got a lot of stuff. Where's KP? We should actually do like a Facebook Live of this because this is actually about to be hysterically fun. It's Mojo and the Morning Show live from Ford Field for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Great Lakes Broadcast and Sports Media Academy. Thank you to those guys for inviting us. I'm Jay Towers. Hey, guys, me, Allison, and Chelsea are going to be playing some Christmas music. Get ready for that. I'll be getting you more Mariah Carey than you've ever thought before. And then I'm going to talk about Superman and my big weekend this weekend. I'm going to be hanging out with...

01:21:49 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 2:

Why does he have a country accent?

01:21:51 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to be hanging out with Lois Lane back at the kryptonite cruise that we're going to be having. Hold on. Mascots, where the hell are you guys going? Get back here. Mascots. We had just five mascots from all these different teams. Ferris State, the Ferris State Bulldog. Is that right? Or what are you?

01:22:16 - 01:22:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's right. Oakland Gracie.

01:22:18 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 1:

Ferris State Bulldog, Oakland University.

01:22:22 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 2:

Paws was here from the Tigers. The Bears?

01:22:25 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 1:

No, the Grizzlies. Are you the Grizzlies? Yes, the Grizzlies, right? Golden Grizzlies. Yes. Oh, I'm so sorry. Coach Campy and everybody over there. We had a great run in the – by the way, when you do that with your fingers, it looks like you're doing this with your fingers. It did.

01:22:39 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 3:

It did for a second. Watch out.

01:22:40 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 1:

You've got to be careful of that.

01:22:42 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 3:

It's a college. It's fine. You're adults.

01:22:43 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 1:

We've got the Utica.

01:22:45 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 3:

Unicorn. Unicorn.

01:22:47 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 1:

We had Tigers. We had Paws from the Tigers. By the way, do you guys all get jealous of Paws because he's the professional? He's the mascot that works for the professional team?

01:22:59 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 3:

I will say, Paws might need an update.

01:23:02 - 01:23:10 | Speaker 1:

I think Paws, by the way, needs to go to the dry cleaner, to be quite honest with you. I think after the season, it was a long season, 162 games.

01:23:10 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 2:

He looks like my dog right before I take him to the groomer.

01:23:12 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 1:

can we do can we do like mascot uh olympics or something like that can we like have you guys like race each other or something i know this is not really good for radio but this has been the worst show that we've had probably in 2024 uh but let's all right here we go all right push-up contest oh my god oh my god if i by the way if i was a mascot i couldn't do one push-up let alone okay that's pretty amazing i got who's that who's the devil over there the blue devil What team are you from? Are you from Duke? No, where are you from?

01:23:45 - 01:23:46 | Unknown:

Lawrence Tech.

01:23:46 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 1:

Lawrence Tech. Are they the Blue Devils? All right, Lawrence Tech.

01:23:52 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 3:

Doesn't he kind of look like Hades from Hercules?

01:23:55 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 1:

Does Lawrence Tech have like, what is it, D? What are you? So it's NAIA. NAIA, okay. All right, very nice, very nice. All right, guys, here we go. Ready? On the count of three, just start beating the crap out of each other. This will be great viral video. Just start literally attacking each other. Go ahead. There you go. One, two, three. They are. They're fighting with each other. Are there tryouts for that? I think so.

01:24:21 - 01:24:23 | Speaker 3:

Do you have to compete with other students?

01:24:24 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny is I think that there are, because you know that in some schools, well, I know this for a fact. Do you know that at Notre Dame, that is one of their biggest scholarships that they give out is to the leprechaun, the guy who's not in a costume. He's dressed as like a leprechaun.

01:24:38 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you what my favorite tradition is?

01:24:41 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 2:

Rory also needs to go to the groomer.

01:24:44 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I wonder if this is the same Rory that actually... Anyways, my favorite tradition at BG was they would wear the feet of the mascot to graduation when they walked across the stage.

01:24:55 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 1:

Rory looks like one of our promotions guys here. At the radio station.

01:25:01 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 4:

Rory had a rough night. Look at the back of his head. Yeah. The hair.

01:25:05 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 1:

Rory needs to go to the barber. Kev's got to take you to his barber, Rory. Nice to see you, Rory. Good to see you again. All right. By the way, this is horrible radio. We're talking to ourselves right now. We're sitting there talking to ourselves. Let me give away a prize here. Hold on. Your call may be monitored or recorded. All right. Let's grab a caller. By the way, Lydia, remind me, next year, Michigan Association of Broadcasters, they can come to us. We're doing it right from our studios. I will not be broadcasting anywhere where I have to leave the studio next year. What's up, Lindsay? You there? Yep, I sure am. You're a winner. Congratulations. Come on, Lindsay. That's awesome. Lindsay's got a $50 cash card. You're now qualified for a trip to Tampa, Florida. Visit Tampa, Florida, and the cool stuff that they've got down in Tampa. We're going to, if you win this tomorrow morning on the show, just before a throwback throwdown, give you and a friend nonstop airfare, round-trip airfare. You're going to stay at the Hyatt Place, which is right in the heart of downtown Tampa, right on the riverfront there. It's beautiful. Get to see the Gulf Coast's greatest new city and one of the largest populated cities, growing cities since 2020, Tampa, Florida. Congratulations.

01:26:25 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 4:

Thanks. I'm so excited.

01:26:27 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, when you're listening to the show this morning, how much do we sound like we've been drinking a lot?

01:26:35 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 4:

Maybe a little. I was thinking you guys retired from the show last night. Oh, that too.

01:26:40 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Can we talk about that? Let's talk about the concert last night. Did you get a chance to see that Lydia and KP were sitting front row there for Shibuzi and Jelly Roll?

01:26:53 - 01:26:59 | Speaker 4:

last night i did not but i did see some cute pictures do us a favor hang on for will you

01:26:59 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 1:

stay there for one second and then give us an opportunity to uh grab your information if we let lydia come in the studio for just a sec yep no problem all right so kp and lydia and megan you were down you did your happy hour beforehand how was everything

01:27:18 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 3:

oh my god it was so great it was so much fun to be able to give away tickets last minute to the show too and we just had a great time the food there at the um cambria hotel the restaurant downstairs that we were at is called um chibo and i love it there so it's really fun that's good

01:27:32 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 1:

kp i saw you and lydia and lydia i think's back in the studio so she'll chime in too i'm here hi uh you guys were backstage with shibuzi which is we were yes he actually wasn't really supposed

01:27:44 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 2:

to be back there he was just trying to find some booze uh but we ran into him and it was hilarious is because Scott Sands, our wonderful PD, he was there as well getting photos, and I offered to take a picture of him and Shibuzi, and Shibuzi said, is this your father? And I don't know if he was excited about that comment or what because he did turn a little pink, but I think he's proud of it because he put it on his story saying that Shibuzi thought that I was KP and Lydia's dad.

01:28:17 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 1:

Wait, for those who don't know who Scott is, because we talk about Scott on the air, but we don't talk about him enough, I think, because to be quite honest with you, he's as big a character as some of these mascots that we're hanging out with today.

01:28:29 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 4:

That's true.

01:28:30 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 1:

He is the head of our Toledo radio stations, and Megan's, I guess, would say he's your arch nemesis.

01:28:41 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, my former boss.

01:28:43 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 1:

I know you love him.

01:28:44 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 3:

I'm disappointed in both of you, though, because you had the opportunity there to correct and say, no, grandfather, and you didn't take it.

01:28:50 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, we told Shabuzi, actually, everybody here we're related to. That is my aunt, that is my sister, that is my brother, and he believed me for a second.

01:29:00 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 1:

Zach, dial him up. I just text you his phone number. Gotcha. So dial him up. Lydia. How would Lydia, well, she must have, see, Lydia is very, she gets so nervous about leaving a listener on hold for five seconds that she left to go to the other room. I can't even see you, but I can sense it.

01:29:19 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 3:

And I could tell she was just panic running back when she heard her name.

01:29:23 - 01:29:36 | Speaker 1:

I told Lindsay she'll hang for him. Lydia, what would be worse, do you think, to have Scott Sands be called your father or to have Scott Sands be called your lover?

01:29:36 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 2:

Definitely lover. Is that even comparable? I don't know.

01:29:41 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm just wondering.

01:29:41 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 2:

Is it offensive to be called someone's dad, first of all?

01:29:44 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

I've gone out with KP. We went to eat at Hyde Park in Birmingham, and people thought that you were, and I had to explain, they thought that we were on a date because we were in the ham. Yeah. And that happens a lot.

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, you have to, every time we...

01:30:00 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 4:

You go out, you explain to, it doesn't matter who it is, it could be the janitor walking by. This is my producer, my producer, digital producer.

01:30:05 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Dad, are you there?

01:30:07 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 5:

Stop it. Scott, who's your daddy? Who's your daddy?

01:30:15 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 3:

Scott, does it bother you? Because, first off, Scott, how beautiful would it be that you could create a girl that looks either like Lydia or KP?

01:30:24 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 5:

That would mean that I have done very well in my adult sexual life.

01:30:29 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

01:30:30 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 4:

Scott, were you embarrassed when he thought that you were our dad, or was it an honor?

01:30:39 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 5:

It was an honor. I didn't actually hear him. I think it was you. One of you two said that he thinks you're our dad, or whatever you said. Well, Shabuzi leaned over to me.

01:30:51 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 4:

He said to me, is that your dad? And I'm like, no. No. But he could be, I guess.

01:30:59 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 3:

Scott. Sure. Scott, be honest. You date girls that are KP and Lydia's age, don't you?

01:31:07 - 01:31:09 | Speaker 5:

Yes, he does. Whenever possible, Mojo.

01:31:11 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 4:

Scott, this is honest. Scott, can I ask you a question? Who did you bring last night?

01:31:17 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 5:

That was a girl named Ashley.

01:31:19 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And how old is she?

01:31:22 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 5:

Slightly older than you.

01:31:23 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 3:

There you go. And by slightly, he means six months.

01:31:27 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 4:

I told Shabuzi that was my sister, so probably.

01:31:33 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Scott, where do you meet these younger ladies that you're hanging out with? Where are they?

01:31:41 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, college campuses? Oh, my.

01:31:45 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 3:

I know you go to a lot of UT football games. Is it usually at the concession stand, or what is it?

01:31:52 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 5:

No, it's just random.

01:31:55 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 3:

Okay. What do you have your dating apps set at as far as age is concerned?

01:32:02 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 2:

Be honest. Be honest.

01:32:06 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 1:

I want to know.

01:32:08 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 5:

It's a wide range.

01:32:10 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but to Scott's credit, the girls have to have a range that hits him as well. So it is consensual. This is not one-sided.

01:32:18 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 5:

Look, you got to cast a wide net. You miss all the shots you don't take.

01:32:22 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 3:

By the way, have you seen how sexy Scott Sands looks? Have you seen them, Shannon, lately? I haven't. No. How much weight have you lost, Scott? I'm down about 90 pounds.

01:32:31 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 2:

Hey, are you joking? Send a picture to our group chat right now.

01:32:35 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Seriously. That is incredible. A naked one. Send a naked one to us.

01:32:37 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 2:

Please don't be naked. Please have clothes on. But that is incredible.

01:32:41 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I'm, yeah, Scott, what do you think?

01:32:45 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 5:

I can't, the hardest part of this is being able to afford new pants every month.

01:32:51 - 01:32:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, it does. It gets expensive. Losing weight gets expensive, doesn't it? It's definitely expensive.

01:32:56 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you the greatest thing I've discovered this year is those ratchet belts. You know what I'm talking about? Oh, yeah. They don't have the holes in them.

01:33:05 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, those are great. What you use to lock down stuff on the bed of a truck.

01:33:10 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:33:10 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 4:

And 25-year-old girls on a date.

01:33:13 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 3:

Ratchet straps or ratchet belts. Oh, Scott. Scott, Scott, Scott. God, what a night it must have been last night for you to be hanging out with. Her name was Ashley. Is that right? I understand. Right.

01:33:28 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 5:

KP. Thanks for ruining any other game.

01:33:30 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no. Come on. By the way, can we get Ashley on the phone? Will you share her phone number so we can call her up and do a second date update? Maybe. All right. I love you, buddy. Love you. Love your show. All right, Mojo in the Morning. Can I do a topic that I would like to call out your little effer? And this is for any parents that are listening to the show right now. I would like you to call us up, and I'll share with you one in a second, and tell us what was the last thing that you had to yell at your kids about, okay? I want you to seriously, 844-MOJO-LIVE. Shannon, I know you probably have been yelling, Smith, Lucy, come on. Do you ever, by the way, mix up their names? I always mix up my boys' names. I don't know. Does that happen when you have a boy and a girl?

01:34:16 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 1:

I always call Wes Smith and Smith Wes. So it's not even the kids. It's my husband and my son.

01:34:22 - 01:34:58 | Speaker 3:

By the way, when she does this in a second and tells us she's going to call out her little effer, she may be calling out Wes. Who knows? It might happen. So Luke got himself into a little bit of trouble just recently. Chelsea and I had to, like, yell at the little effer about it because he did something that I don't know if this has happened to any parents whose kids have, you know, maybe a 16-year-old kid that drives your car. He lent his car, the Jeep that he drives, to one of his buddies to drive or some guy that he was, to go run an errand for him. Are you kidding me? Right. That's exactly what I had to say.

01:34:58 - 01:34:58 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:34:59 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 3:

Look at Rory. his face rory the lion's mascot is looking at you like no um so chelsea and i were like really pissed

01:35:06 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 2:

i was actually more pissed it was one of those situations where chelsea's usually the disciplinarian and i'm the disney dad yeah you know and i'm the guy that just sits there and lets them get away with murder i was so pissed off because i was so worried that you know if the kid gets in an accident in the car what happens not insured right and i my insurance company could drop me all the rest of this so i am mother effing him up one side and down the other and chelsea had to like step in and then you know what pisses me off i don't know if this ever happens or happened to you when you're a kid i remember my mom used to do this with my dad did you ever remember your mom or dad stepping in and having to like side with you because your parent was yelling at you so much that's what chelsea ended up doing so i'm yelling at him and then all of a sudden chelsea's like Tom, it's really not that bad. I'm like, what?

01:35:58 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 4:

I mean, she doesn't get to play that role very often. I'm excited that she got to finally be the one that wasn't the hammer.

01:36:05 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 2:

You are right.

01:36:06 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:36:06 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. It was one of the, I mean, you know what's funny? I am convinced that Luke is doing things that he's just getting caught with now and that the other two probably did the same thing.

01:36:18 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 4:

At a certain point, can you even punish him anymore? Like, he is an adult living on his own in college. Yeah, but you can take away the important things.

01:36:25 - 01:36:30 | Speaker 3:

Cell phone. You can take away the monthly drop of money into his account. Believe me. He can get away.

01:36:31 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and the car. He gets a car. He literally has a car. Yeah. That's really nice. Which the whole point of him having a car was last year, he didn't have a car. You don't have a car up on campus at Michigan State when you're a freshman. And the problem is he never came back and visited us. Yeah. Like he would never come. So now with him having a car, occasionally he'll come back every now and again.

01:36:54 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 4:

When you force him to. Yeah. Right. That's kind of the thing.

01:36:56 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 2:

When I say to him, hey, your car needs an oil change.

01:36:59 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, bring it back.

01:37:01 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 2:

Jeff Snyder just called and says that you've got to bring it in. Naz, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you? Happy Thursday, everybody.

01:37:09 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Happy Thursday. Amen. We're almost there.

01:37:13 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 1:

I have an amazing daughter who doesn't understand, like, to not eat in the bathroom. or, like, in her room, and I'm skeeved out by it. Homegirl had, like, a mega bag of Skittles that she keeps in her drawer, and she eats them while she's on the toilet pooping while she's reading a book. I love her. That is eye-cognitive behavior.

01:37:39 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 2:

That, by the way, is definitely our behavior. Like, we all, I don't think all of us were like, wow, you yelled at him for that? Yeah. Yielded at her for that?

01:37:49 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 3:

I didn't do anything wrong with it. I actually had to yell at both Lucy and Smith about having it, and it had to do with candy as well, because they left their bags of Halloween candy on the floor of their bedrooms. And Bo, the cute bad dog that I have, got into both of them and decided to go to town on Kit Kats and Tootsie Pops and Snickers and gummy bears. He basically went trick-or-treating in my kids' rooms, which was so dangerous. He is fine. but I had to yell at them the day before yesterday because it was a smorgasbord of candy.

01:38:22 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 4:

To be fair, though, I feel like that might have been mom's fault because don't you guys all train your kids with M&Ms on the toilet? You've conditioned these kids to eating candy on the toilet.

01:38:32 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 2:

By the way...

01:38:33 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 4:

I never did that one.

01:38:35 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 2:

By the way, my wife still trains me on how to be on the toilet. Cesar, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What did you have to yell at the little effer about?

01:38:44 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. Hello, everybody. Long time, first time. Hey, she's on the phone. So we have a little puppy. Her name is Minnie. And my kids are not careful with it. They step on it. The other day, the dog getting behind the couch. And they open the, where your legs are resting. I heard the dog really bad.

01:39:09 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. By the way, I don't know anything you just said. Because when you said little pub bee, I felt, what's the, what's the Disney movie where there's a Disney movie where it's like, that's what I felt like.

01:39:24 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 4:

The Little Mermaid, yeah.

01:39:26 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 2:

What's it, Ariel?

01:39:27 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 4:

Les Poissons. No, Beauty and the Bees. Beauty and the Bees.

01:39:32 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 2:

Caesar, what's happening?

01:39:34 - 01:39:39 | Speaker 4:

I cut off the heads and I pull out the bones.

01:39:40 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 2:

Caesar, call more often. You crazy man, you.

01:39:46 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 5:

I will. I'll be trying this morning to call to get a trip to Florida. But you guys don't know. Tomorrow. I'll be trying every day. We're listening to you every day when I drop them off the kids. We love you, man.

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Call out your kids. What are your kids' names?

01:40:01 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 3:

Christian, Hannah Victoria, and Jules is 9, 6, and 3.

01:40:06 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 4:

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Listen tomorrow, last qualifier for this week, and then all next week at 8 o'clock, okay?

01:40:12 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I will. I love you guys. We love you too. We love you too.

01:40:16 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 4:

Sammy, what's going on? Call out the little, I almost said the word, effort.

01:40:20 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 3:

This little, first time, long time. Yay, Sammy's on the phone. Yeah. Damn. What? He's already being a little effer right now.

01:40:33 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what's going on? What's happening there?

01:40:37 - 01:40:45 | Speaker 3:

Man. Shut the fuck up. And he starts flipping me off and flipping his sister off. He's five.

01:40:45 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:40:46 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious? My ovaries are just shriveling up right now. He's absolutely insane.

01:40:55 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 4:

Is that kid, by the way, is that kid?

01:40:57 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 3:

trained are you not training your children no he he just thinks he's hilarious he's really not

01:41:05 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 4:

oh my god you god love you i'm making the sign of the cross for you right now listen god god speed right please yes uh and amanda this is a good one amanda what did you

01:41:17 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 2:

have to yell at your little effort about so my son's been a little effort lately a lot and And he decided to look up what a BBL is with his friend during class on a school laptop.

01:41:30 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. What did the teachers do?

01:41:34 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 2:

They just sent him down to the principal. And the principal had him call me and explain what he did. And they pretty much told him, you lose recess for the next week. And it's funny, two days prior to that, he asked me, hey, mom, people were talking about it in class. and they're only in fifth grade, and I explained to him. I even told him, hey, there's someone at the gym that has one. I'll show you next time. And he still went and looked it up on the school computer with his voice. I love that you were going to point out a real-life example. But it was educational. At this point, you've got to teach them, right?

01:42:10 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 4:

Yes, teach your children.

01:42:12 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 3:

But he was trying to learn. He was trying to know what it was.

01:42:14 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

I know. It could be worse. It could be way worse than a BBL. Kim, last one here. Kim, what did you have to yell at your little effer about?

01:42:23 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 3:

I had to yell at my little effer because after dating a guy for two weeks, she decided to get his name tattooed on her neck. Oh, wow. Oh, you win. Listen, they broke up two weeks later, so she had to get it covered up. Oh, my God. Oh, no.

01:42:40 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Two weeks. Oh, jeez. You know what's funny is even when they're 21, right? How old is your kid? 20, 21 years old? 21 years old. Even when they're that age, you get yelled at, kids. Just ask KP, Mama KP. All the time. Right?

01:42:58 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 3:

Expensive lessons you had to learn.

01:43:00 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 4:

Love it. Thank you for the call.

01:43:01 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Call us. Texas. Find us on social media. At Mojo in the Morning. It's not hard to reach out to us. And if you really loved us, you join the show now. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

01:43:14 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 4:

Broadcasting live, Lions, Ford Field, Jared Goff, Jared Goff, Jared Goff. Do you think that Jared Goff leaves anything in his locker room that we can go take a look at since we're down here just hanging out? I think we should have snuck around earlier. I really want to go take a peek at the field. I know. Well, there's nobody out there.

01:43:38 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

I haven't even seen it.

01:43:38 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 4:

Are we allowed to? It's literally right behind him. I know. We're broadcasting on the little corridor area here.

01:43:43 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 3:

Big thing behind us, a big draper, the tapestry.

01:43:47 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 4:

I think, what's it called, step and repeat or something like that? Well, we're broadcasting live here today. My day has been officially complete. Megan and Shannon and KP and I, the dream come true. Me and the girls hanging out today. How much fun is this? Just the girls. All of us, let's hold hands here for a second. Can we all hold hands for one second? Are we going to say grace? Girls, let's have a pillow fight later today with Kev not being here today. Come on.

01:44:20 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 3:

He's going to be so upset.

01:44:22 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 4:

This is so much fun. Kev is out sick today, so Kev will hopefully be back tomorrow. He felt so bad about calling in sick. He literally, I said to him, I go, you understand that in all the years that I've done this, I have never had anybody, and listen, I will say this. Shannon is the one, too. She will not take a sick day. She hates sick days. Megan, you're like this, too. KP, she'll take a sick day like if it's a little...

01:44:47 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 3:

I still feel guilty. I'm actually sick when I take sick days. I want to take a sick day right now.

01:44:53 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

But Cav was, like, apologizing for taking a sick day. I was like, what are you doing? He said he felt like he was letting the team down.

01:45:00 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 1:

But isn't that a sign that, like, we all truly, not to sound cheesy, we love what we do and we love coming to work. So it does suck when you, like, I get FOMO when I have to take a day off. I get that. But as the person who rarely gets sick because I have made choices in my life not to let Petri dishes live with me, a.k.a. children. When y'all come in sick and get me sick, I get so angry at all of you. I'm like, take the sick day. Take it. I don't want to be out for four days.

01:45:27 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

Do you think, though, that that one – see, I always believe that the sick day is to make yourself feel better, but they've been sick for three days prior that they've already given you the germs at that point.

01:45:39 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 1:

I know, I know. I just wish people would take the actual time off because I hate getting sick because somebody else came to work. Especially – my dad and I were talking about this recently. Like, it's not for us. Like, this is not how our job works, but so many people can work from home. So even when people are like, but I'm feeling better. But you're still sick, work from home for a couple of days.

01:46:00 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I get it. You ran into some listeners. You were at the Cambria, the Chibo inside the Cambria Hotel.

01:46:10 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, downtown last night. It was so much fun. I love getting to do events like that where I just get to meet and hang out and especially drink with listeners. I love an event where I'm encouraged to just get a cocktail. Don't ask me twice to put on a cute little pump. Take a photo of our Instagram and grab a drink. Don't mind if I do. But I love just getting to hang out with listeners. And we had a bunch of new ones that I had never met before come to this event yesterday. And so there was a guy there who looked, I don't want to say out of place. That seems like it was rude. But he seemed like not one of our typical listeners. Like, more of a country boy. More of a rural guy. And I was like, what are you doing here?

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 3:

That's profiling, but yes.

01:46:51 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait. Like a KP kind of guy? Oh, like KP's kind of guy's dad. Oh. Oh, that's fine. That's fine, too. I have a wide net as well. So I asked him, I was like, what are you doing here? He's like, well, I just learned about the show, and my girlfriend finally convinced me to check it out, and I kind of recently got into it. And my favorite question to ask people is, what's your favorite thing about the show? Because it tells me so much about you. And you guys would be shocked to know how many men say, well, I heard a War of the Roses one time, and now I can't stop listening. It's every guy's favorite segment is War of the Roses, and they will deny it to your face, but they would admit it to us, and they're like, I just think it's so much fun to listen to, and the gossip. But I'm so curious because I don't feel like we ask our listeners this very often, like, what was the thing that got you hooked on Mojo in the Morning?

01:47:41 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That's a good question. This is kind of like one of those little radio survey questions that they, well, do they still do that? Does Tony still do that where they'll call your house and they'll say, hey we're calling from we're calling to get information about radio and then they'll ask questions and stuff and then they come back and we have to sit in a room and they say they don't like when you talk about farts and poop and things like that alright 844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 and this by the way is probably a good question for like the newish listeners right? I mean we got some people that are hardcores that have probably been with us forever you know but also I'd like to know like even like i don't know maybe you got something that's uh different about what we're doing or what we've done or but it is kind of a wild question to uh to ask but also i will be so mad if our listeners

01:48:32 - 01:48:43 | Speaker 1:

let us down and don't call in because if we ask why do you hate listen we'll get eight million calls and i know y'all like it all day so give us the one nice thing yeah this better draw some

01:48:43 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 3:

calls because we have done that before in the past here we go

01:48:46 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 2:

Don't you think this is like perfect music?

01:48:50 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 3:

I do. Please hold. We'll be right with you. Jen, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi. What got you hooked?

01:48:59 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 2:

Five Lies. I wanted to get my mom so bad. Well, we got to get her. Have you ever been on it? No. And my mom deserves, like, everything. So much. She deserves the world. and I would love.

01:49:17 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 3:

All right, here's the deal. I'm going to put you back on hold and then Lydia will get your information. We'll come up with some kind of an idea for Five Lies, okay?

01:49:23 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 2:

You guys are amazing. Long time, long time. And thank you so much.

01:49:28 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 3:

We love you. Hang on one second. Katie, what was it, Katie?

01:49:34 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

So I started listening because of War of the Roses and one of the first times I listened to it, I was flowing into my parking garage and the guy was cheating on his wife with the maid And I was so invested, I actually hit the post in our parking garage and ripped the mirror off of my car.

01:49:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Okay, that's terrible. But I also kind of love that until you got it fixed, you saw the bus over and over and over again, really driving home.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 5:

home that you needed to listen well i think about it every time i pull in the parking garage

01:50:04 - 01:50:22 | Speaker 1:

oh my gosh uh we're cause i wonder how many other people that's a good topic for a later time but have we ever caused an accident when listening to your the show um uh let's go to caitlin next caitlin are you there yeah i'm here caitlin what what got you hooked megan met a country guy last

01:50:22 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 6:

night that loves the war of the roses what's yours so my grandma used to take me to school every day when i was little to elementary school and we would listen to it on the way to school all the time and for me it was the um the mojo's breaking and entering oh yes and just last year the last last christmas when you guys were doing it i was pregnant with my youngest and i was just

01:50:47 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 1:

a sobbing mess every day on my way to work oh my god that's wonderful yeah that's you know what we not that we want to make you cry but honestly we want you to understand that that is our gift back to the listeners that have given so much to us is being able to try to help you out, especially during the holidays. But you're around with breaking and entering. So I love that you're listening to that and that got you drawn to us.

01:51:08 - 01:51:13 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and my grandma's actually one of your misfits, Grandma Kathy. Oh my gosh, Kathy.

01:51:14 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 1:

Yes, we should get her on a Five Lies.

01:51:17 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 6:

And it's funny because now my kids, she sometimes will drive them to school. And even when I'm driving them to school, I have my daughter in the car right now. She's like, Mom, Mojo in the morning again? I'm like, yeah, it's what I listen to every morning. That's my routine since I was a little kid like you.

01:51:33 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 1:

Here's the thing. Say exactly what I used to say to my kids when they would say stuff like that. Shut up, kid. Try it out. See what happens, okay?

01:51:43 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 6:

Okay. You want to say hi, Sophie? Say hi. Say hi, Mojo.

01:51:47 - 01:51:47 | Unknown:

Hi, Mojo.

01:51:48 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Sophie. No, don't say hi, Sophie. Say what you were going to say. Shut up, kid. We love you. Keep laughing. We love you. Stacey, what's up? Stacey, what got you listening?

01:52:01 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Mojo, I've been listening to you guys for about almost 20 years now. Started way back in the day with the street scams. Now I listen to the 5S655 with my daughter. I love it. On the way to middle school. Yeah. Oh, my. By the way. I also love. Go ahead.

01:52:16 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 1:

No, I was going to say street scams were greatest. My favorite one ever of a street scam was when Spike went into Walmart and quit the job he never had.

01:52:23 - 01:52:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:52:23 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Yes. One of the greatest. That was honestly one of my favorite moments ever on the show. So thank you for acknowledging that. We appreciate that. And the 5 at 6.55, I can't believe how many people love the 5 at 6.55.

01:52:34 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 2:

It is my favorite. Shannon knows this. I play every day. I will not look at the questions.

01:52:41 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 1:

Wow. What were you going to say? I'm sorry.

01:52:43 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 2:

My middle schooler listens to it every day.

01:52:45 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we love you. Thank you for listening. We appreciate it. I like all the parents that are sharing us, like their parents shared you, you know, to us. So thank you for doing that. Thanks so much. Emily, one last one on this one, Emily, and then I got to get to the dirty on the 40. What's going on?

01:53:06 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I just, your guys' banter is too much. It cracks me up every morning. You guys rise each other, but you also love each other. And it reminds me of, like, sitting with my family at a holiday, and I just find myself laughing, like, every morning.

01:53:19 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you've got a dysfunctional family, don't you? Yeah, I do.

01:53:22 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 5:

You know, that's why it's home, though. It's so good.

01:53:27 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 1:

We love you. Thank you. Bye. We're broadcasting from the National Association of Broadcasters, Great Lakes Broadcast and Sports Media Academy. And we have some very beautiful people here. By the way, if good-looking guys walk by, I would also give you guys the love, too.

01:53:50 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, we would stop them. Don't worry. Don't you worry.

01:53:52 - 01:53:54 | Speaker 1:

But where do you go to school?

01:53:54 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 3:

I go to Michigan State University.

01:53:56 - 01:54:09 | Speaker 1:

Go green! Go white! What's happening? Have you ever run into a kid named Luke on campus that has a little mustache, a little cheesy mustache? No? That's my son. I'll show you pictures.

01:54:09 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 3:

Is he in a frat? Yes. He is. Yes, he is. Theta Chi. Theta Chi? Theta Chi. Theta Chi.

01:54:15 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 1:

He's a Theta Chi guy. Tell us, so you're studying broadcasting?

01:54:19 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 3:

My major is broadcast journalism. Well, my major is journalism, and I'm minoring in sports journalism and broadcasting. Good for you.

01:54:27 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 1:

I have a guy named Garrett that works in the athletic department that you need to be working with.

01:54:33 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:54:33 - 01:54:38 | Speaker 1:

One of my best buddies in the world, and he runs all the Tom Izzo stuff for them.

01:54:38 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I just filmed for basketball.

01:54:41 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Garrett, I got somebody for you. So we're going to connect you. Well, hang out. Guys, hang out. We're going to do the dirty. Dirty on the 30. Where did you go to high school?

01:54:53 - 01:54:55 | Speaker 3:

I went to Shrine in Royal Oak. I love it. Shrine.

01:54:56 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 1:

All right, so here we go. Shannon's going to do the dirty. Hang out with us for a little bit.

01:54:58 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Off with Vice President Kamala Harris yesterday encouraging her voters to keep fighting as she delivered her concession speech from her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington, D.C. yesterday.

01:55:14 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 1:

Earlier today, I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power.

01:55:32 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 3:

She said while she concedes this election, she does not concede the fight that fueled her campaign. By the way, last night, Nevada, Arizona were called for Trump, which means he finished with 312 electoral votes, the most for a Republican presidential candidate since 1988. So this is an interesting story if you're a fan of the movie The Wizard of Oz. And who isn't? We've all seen The Wizard of Oz, right? Classic. Have we? Okay, some people haven't. So a pair of ruby slippers. We had an intern. We had an intern. Remember Randy Richmond? Randy never saw it. Has never seen The Wizard of Oz. That's wild. Yeah. Yeah. So a pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in the movie. The pair that was stolen in 2005 because there were several pairs of slippers that she used for the movie. well they were recovered by the FBI in 2018 are now up for auction and these slippers are the ones that are the cross-matched sister shoes to the pair at the Smithsonian if you've ever gone to Washington DC to see them so the shoes are one of four known pairs worn by Judy in the movie they were purchased in 1970 by a memorabilia collector named Michael Shaw and they were on loan at minnesota's julie garland museum where they were stolen by a 76 year old man who used a hammer to break the museum's glass door and the display case that held the shoes he was under the impression that the shoes were covered in real rubies they're covered in sequins people they're not covered in real rubies but as mojo would say sequins um so now they are up for auction and the sad part of the story is the duty garland museum in minnesota is hoping to be the successful bidder because they want them back so state lawmakers have set aside like a hundred thousand dollars to help them but

01:57:17 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 2:

i mean they're gonna go for in the millions go back to the rightful owner so they did but they

01:57:22 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 3:

weren't the owners they were on loan from somebody were on loan from the owner and now the owner got them back and is the one putting them up for sale yeah but i feel like the museum should get them back. For the money. They're going to go for millions and millions. I think the last time I checked the bidding, and the bidding ends on December 7th, it was already at $812,000. Yeah. And lastly, it is an incredibly beautiful story that we talked about a few weeks ago, but I do have an update for you. Our Maureen Smith is a 21-year-old football player at Michigan State.

01:57:51 - 01:57:53 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever run into him at all on campus?

01:57:53 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my boyfriend actually plays at Michigan State.

01:57:55 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 2:

Really? On the football team? Yeah. What's your boyfriend's name? His name is Jojo

01:57:59 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 4:

Martinez. He's number 24. And what

01:58:01 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 2:

What kind of NIL deal does he have? Does he make lots of money?

01:58:06 - 01:58:09 | Speaker 4:

It's a business. It's a business. I'll leave it at that.

01:58:09 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 2:

I like it.

01:58:11 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 4:

I like it.

01:58:11 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, if you've heard this story, or if you haven't heard the story, I should say, about Omarion, he is raising his four younger siblings. Their mom recently, very suddenly, passed away. Yesterday on Good Morning America, he was given a new car, $40,000, and a trip to Disneyland for his family.

01:58:31 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 2:

If I don't step up, who can they turn to? I'm just happy we're all together. It's the biggest thing. I'm going to be their protector. That's amazing. He's a great kid. He's a great guy.

01:58:40 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he's very sweet. And he's from Belleville, too. Yeah. So, yeah, he's from around here. And I really, hats out to him for stepping up.

01:58:50 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 3:

I mean, a great thing that the people over at DMA did. And he just said he's so happy that all of his siblings can be together.

01:58:57 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 2:

That was his goal. We actually have something in the works for him with our break-and-entering Christmas wish. A lot of listeners have come together and wanted to help him out.

01:59:05 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 4:

It's amazing.

01:59:05 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 2:

Because here's the thing with him. You look at it, anybody could take a situation like that and actually have it turn into a really bad one where you forget school, you forget the team, and honestly you can't do both. This kid's doing both and doing them both really well, so that's awesome.

01:59:23 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 4:

And I know Coach Smith and the team has been very supportive of him. They were in camp when he found out. Like, literally, they had to tell him after, like, practice and stuff. So they've been very helpful to him, too. That's cool. That's good to hear.

01:59:38 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 2:

What is your boyfriend's name? Say his name.

01:59:40 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 4:

Joseph Martinez.

01:59:41 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 2:

Joseph Martinez. What position is he? Is he a cornerback? Running back. Running back. All right. Let's get him an NIL deal from Mojo in the Morning. Yes. Would he accept, all I've got budget-wise, is I've got a $100 Kroger gift card once a month. Seriously, $1,200 a year. Hi, Tiffany from Toledo. You're a winner. Congratulations to you.

02:02:28 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much. That's the first time I've ever called, even. Oh, first time.

02:02:33 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 2:

Come on, first time, long time.

02:02:35 - 02:02:36 | Speaker 3:

Little Kev.

02:02:37 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 2:

Where you at, Little Kev?

02:02:38 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 3:

What took you so long, Tiffany?

02:02:40 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my mic wasn't.

02:02:41 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 3:

I've been listening to you every morning every time I take my kids to school, and I was like, this is cool, so I'm going to call.

Jingle ball tickets. Congratulations to you. Hang on the phone, and we'll get some information from you, okay?

02:03:04 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

02:03:06 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hold on one second. Do not go anywhere. This is a lot harder without Kev, man. I'm missing. You know what's weird? There is a vibe change. Like, you know, when Shannon's out, Megan does a great job filling in for the dirties. But there's still, like, a change in the – it makes everybody's, like, we do have this cohesive team. Yes. It kind of reminds me of the Lions when, you know, I mean, God forbid Jared Goff anything had. We don't even want to say that. But Jameson's been out the last couple of weeks with the suspension. Is he back this week, by the way? I think so. I think he's back this week. Yes. We haven't heard anything about that other thing, right?

02:03:44 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 3:

But we're not going to talk about it because it doesn't exist. We're not going to talk about it. Nothing's going to happen.

02:03:48 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 2:

No, we're not going to get into that at all. We're not getting... Because here's the deal. We get into that. We put it out there in the atmosphere. We're in... And it becomes... I know. We don't talk... You know what that would be like? We're in Ford Field. It would be somebody coming over to your house and talking about... Shannon, talking about your ex. I'm not going to your house and talking about your ex. And you're never invited back then. Even though I wouldn't say good things all the time, but I would say whatever I wanted to say. Right? I can do that. So here in this house, Ford Field, we talk good things. Look at all these future broadcasters, broadcasters of America. This is very cool. Any high schoolers here? We got some high schoolers. Lincoln Park High School. Nice. We love you guys. What school do you go to? Do we have a microphone? Come over here. Let's talk into the microphone. Let's say hello. You say you're from Saline? Yeah. And what school do you go to? Saline High School? All right. And are you a future television? You want to be in television, don't you? You're a good-looking young guy. Television sucks. They're all losing money. It's crazy. Radio is where it's at, my friend. It's true. Do you have a podcast?

02:04:55 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I do, actually. What's your podcast called? I'm currently working on Premiering.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 2:

podcast in mid-December called Candid.

02:05:02 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 5:

All right, hold on. Let me guess what it is. Candid. It's about photography. Wrong answer. By the way, everybody, who's got a podcast? Name your podcast. I got to guess what you talk about. Candid. What is Candid actually about?

02:05:17 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 2:

Candid is about getting in-depth details about stories not highlighted much around local and national news.

02:05:26 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 5:

That's a horrible name, then. That's a horrible name. I love it. Are you kidding me? I would do spit talk the local stuff. That's what I would have called it if I was going to come up with it. Yes. No offense. I'm a professional. I would have done that. I would have called it something like that. Candid's okay. That's all right. But no, that's good.

02:05:43 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 7:

He's rethinking it. I think it's great and professional.

02:05:45 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 5:

Where can I listen to it? What platforms?

02:05:47 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 2:

You can listen to it on sportscaster.com and on YouTube. All right. We got to get it on the iHeart app, too. Nice to meet you.

02:05:54 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 5:

By the way, if anybody wants to be on the iHeart app, it's very easy. Who else has got a podcast here? Come on up here, sir. Thank you. We appreciate that. This man here with a very nice camera lens. What is your name? What school do you go to?

02:06:06 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm Connor, and I go to South Lion High School.

02:06:09 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 5:

South Lion in the house. Go South Lion. Thank you. What is the name of your podcast?

02:06:15 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 3:

So it's called Just Why. It's on Spotify.

02:06:18 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 5:

Just Why. What do you think that's about, Megan?

02:06:21 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 7:

I think it's about all things that start with the letter Y. And every episode is about a different thing That starts with why

02:06:29 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 5:

Don't buzz her I think she might be on the song

02:06:31 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 7:

You had a whole episode about the song Yellow by Coldplay 45 minutes

02:06:36 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 5:

Yellowstone Okay, what is it about?

02:06:41 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 3:

So it's just a random topic And the entire premise of it is just Why are we talking about this? So it goes in depth into that topic Specifically on every episode

02:06:49 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 4:

Why something went viral specifically? Stuff like that That's cool

02:06:54 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 5:

It's a horrible name

02:06:55 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 4:

I love that.

02:06:57 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 7:

Not catchy at all.

02:06:59 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry.

02:06:59 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 7:

We're the creative ones that have the Mojo in the Morning Show and the More Mojo podcast. Got it.

02:07:05 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 5:

Get it? You understand? See? It's about branding.

02:07:07 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 4:

It's the most basic alliteration you could think of. It's about branding.

02:07:09 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 5:

Anybody else with a podcast? Okay, come on up here. Connor, no offense. Where can you get the Just Why podcast again? Where can you get it? Spotify?

02:07:17 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 3:

It's on all major apps. Spotify, Pandora, Apple podcast. iHeart. All right.

02:07:21 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 5:

iHeart. Can you get it on iHeart app? All right. Go ahead. All right. Next. Last but definitely not least, what is your name? Aaliyah. Aaliyah from Lincoln Park.

02:07:30 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 6:

No, actually, I'm from Romeo. Oh. Why are you wearing a Lincoln Park sweatshirt? Because my grandpa used to go there. Okay. And he just gave it to me. That is so nice.

02:07:41 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 5:

So what is the name of your podcast?

02:07:45 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 6:

It's about, oh.

02:07:47 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 5:

What is the name?

02:07:48 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 6:

It's Aaliyah's show.

02:07:50 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. All right. If you don't have a playoff of the Amanda show is your theme. I'm sorry for that podcast. That's exactly what I thought of. I'm so mad at you.

02:07:57 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 5:

Aaliyah's show is about you.

02:08:02 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 6:

I guess, but not really.

02:08:06 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 5:

What? Why would it not be? It's the Aaliyah show.

02:08:09 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 6:

So it's basically like I would like have a bunch of different guests on my show. Okay. And we would just like sit there and like talk and like hang out. Okay. I like it.

02:08:19 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 4:

So you're still hosting it though, right? Yes. Okay. So it's not about you. It's about your guest.

02:08:23 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:08:24 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 5:

Aaliyah. Okay. Finally, I like a name of a podcast.

02:08:28 - 02:08:28 | Unknown:

I love it.

02:08:29 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 5:

That was excellent. Good job, Aaliyah. Where can I watch or listen to your podcast?

02:08:33 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 6:

So, it's currently, like, in the works right now, but it's going to be, like, on Spotify. All right. Love it.

02:08:41 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Very cool. By the way, iHeart is where you guys want your podcast on, okay? All right. All right. You got to put it on the iHeart app. We're at the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. By the way, these are all future broadcasters. Love it. Do you guys see yourselves in these guys? No. I see myself in about five or six of these guys. No, I do. Seriously.

02:08:59 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 7:

Here's why I say no. I feel like everybody is taking this so seriously. They're dressed so professional. You can feel, like, the crazy passion about this. So I love what we do, but sometimes I feel like I accidentally fell into this. And, yeah, I love watching how excited all of these kids are about this.

02:09:15 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 5:

Don't you guys come to something like this, though, and realize how lucky we are? Yes.

02:09:18 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 4:

Very much so. Oh, my God, yes. This reminds me of my time in high school, actually. Shout out to Roger Smith. I know Lake Orion High School is coming here today. So this is so special to see everybody here. That's cool. A lot of passionate teachers here today.

02:09:29 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 5:

All right. We're taking a break. We're going to be back. Don't go anywhere. More Mojo in the Morning and future Mojo in the Morning snacks.

02:09:35 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 1:

Tap that app. Tap, tap, tap in. Mojo in the Morning on iHeartRadio. Tap that app now. Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:48 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 5:

Maria, who is it that you think is cheating?

02:09:50 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 4:

My husband.

02:09:52 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 5:

And why is that?

02:09:55 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

Combination of things. The biggest factor is us.

02:10:00 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 2:

a very large amount of money is missing. He's been making withdrawals and stuff like that.

02:10:08 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 1:

So is he charging your credit cards or charging stuff to your bank where you can actually see what he's spending money on?

02:10:17 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 2:

No, it's like cash advances, cash withdrawals from our savings. Sometimes it's like small amounts. Sometimes it's larger amounts.

02:10:28 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 1:

how much how much money uh has been missing

02:10:32 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 2:

in the last year i've calculated about like five thousand dollars wow and have you asked him about it no i haven't asked we've always been like really honest about our finances and and you know we don't say hey you know can i spend a hundred dollars or can i do this like we just trust each other so you know i look at our accounts but i've never asked questions and then it just kind of all clicked recently and i went kept just going back and back and seeing these withdrawals and adding it up and how was your guys relationship um it's always been good i mean we've been together for five years now um but lately like The other thing that's kind of leading me to believe this is, you know, sexually, we just haven't been connecting. He's more distant as a partner just in general. And I don't know, I'm just scared. Like, my gut is telling me something.

02:11:43 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 1:

What is your fear? Your fear that he has another woman in his life or your fear that he's doing something they shouldn't be doing?

02:11:50 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. So, like, I feel like there's someone else, but I don't know if it's like a full-on cheating. I don't know if he's doing that OnlyFans or paying somebody for sexual things. I don't know. I don't, it's beyond my comprehension.

02:12:12 - 02:12:16 | Speaker 1:

Has there been any infidelity at all in your relationship?

02:12:17 - 02:12:31 | Speaker 2:

Nothing that I've ever been aware of. Nothing on my end and nothing that we've ever, like, confronted together. No suspicions, nothing, nothing. It's always been really good until now.

02:12:32 - 02:12:44 | Speaker 1:

Let's call him up and see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. Can you mute your phone and promise us that you're going to keep it muted until we actually bring you on and talk to you?

02:12:45 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, I can do that.

02:12:47 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 1:

All right, mute your phone. We're hoping that the roses go to Maria.

02:13:04 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Hello?

02:13:06 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm looking for Dino.

02:13:10 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Who's this?

02:13:12 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Dino. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you. If you have like 30 seconds to answer some survey questions, we're going to give you this dozen long-stemmed red roses that can be shipped out as early as today. You can send them anywhere in the country. And again, totally free, no strings attached. Not going to ask you for your credit card info or anything like that. Okay. Let's get the questions out of the way first. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Gino? No. Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? No. Okay. As a thank you for participating in our rosesbloom.com survey, I am now authorized to provide you with those flowers. Again, dozen long-stemmed red roses. And so let's start off with a first and a last name. My name? Nope. I know your name. Just the first and the last name of who you want these to go to?

02:14:10 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Alexandra. I'm not really sure what the last name is.

02:14:18 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And do you have a phone number for her?

02:14:25 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, sure.

02:14:31 - 02:14:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And do you know, I'm actually going to start in a profile for you on rosesbloom.com. Just hopefully you'll order flowers from us in the future. If you do order flowers, and then it'll be much faster and easier for you. So I have Alexandra on here. And what is her relationship to you?

02:14:50 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 2:

Acquaintance.

02:14:51 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And we also offer something unique at rosesbloom.com, and that's a digital voice card. So it'll get text.

02:15:00 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 1:

to the person when the flowers arrive and instead of just reading a paper card they can actually push play and listen to a message from you. So we're going to go ahead

02:15:08 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 5:

and record that. How do they get it?

02:15:12 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 1:

So it gets, the flowers get delivered like any flowers do but upon delivery Alexandra's going to get a text message alerting her. She has flowers so she can go outside and grab them and then this digital voice card will be a part of that text.

02:15:27 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 5:

Staving paper and stuff. Correct.

02:15:30 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Okay, so I'm going to count you down, and then you can just leave something short and sweet. All right?

02:15:34 - 02:15:34 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:15:35 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay, three, two, one.

02:15:40 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I hope you like these flowers. I wish we could meet in person.

02:15:46 - 02:15:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Great. And, Gino, I have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:15:56 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, it happened already, so I guess.

02:15:59 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Gino, I just also need to inform you. Hi, I just need to inform you of a couple other things. Hi, we're going to send you the flowers. We team up on these calls.

02:16:13 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 5:

Wasn't I just, oh, I thought, okay, I was talking to somebody else.

02:16:16 - 02:16:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, we have, it's a room full of people that we do these calls with. I'm going to just jump on. Yeah, just to double check the phone number. Sure. Can you double check the phone number real quick with me?

02:16:32 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 5:

You want me to repeat that phone number?

02:16:34 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

02:16:38 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 5:

Two.

02:16:42 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good. And I also need to ask you a quick question. Do you know Maria? Yeah. Who is that?

02:16:57 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 5:

Somebody I know.

02:16:59 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 3:

I know, but who is she to you?

02:17:02 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 4:

It's not important to what's happening now. What is these flowers?

02:17:06 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, she's on the phone with us right now and just heard you send flowers to another person. Maria, your suspicions are pretty accurate.

02:17:28 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I don't really know what to say right now. I'm sorry.

02:17:36 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 3:

No, no, you don't have to say anything. You stay with us, and we're going to see if we can get him back on and also try to call that number, too.

02:17:49 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo. Mojo in the morning. Call the show now, 844-MOJO-LIFE, 844-665-6548.

02:18:16 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 3:

Maria's husband, who's been hiding some cash, sends the flowers to somebody else. Maria? Hold on one sec.

02:18:38 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 2:

Your call has been forwarded to an automated voice messaging system. Two.

02:18:44 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 3:

That obviously gets, that's a bump, right? All right. We're going to call him back and we're going to find out what's going on. That was that number. Hold on, my sec. Has he contacted you since you've been out with us?

02:19:11 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 4:

No. hi i'm an automated calling assistant recording this call for the person you're trying to reach can i ask what you're calling about i'm sorry i'm looking for gino thanks connecting you now hello

02:19:43 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 3:

Do you know?

02:19:44 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:19:46 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the morning. You hung up on us.

02:19:50 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 5:

I know I did. He stopped calling me.

02:19:53 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, you're not going to not be able to talk about this because your wife is.

02:20:00 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 2:

on the phone with us right now um we're going to continue to keep on trying to call that number of the who is it that he sent Alexandra Alexandra and find out exactly how he was able to meet her and we'll try to get to uh obviously he hasn't met her or how he's been able to communicate with her can i and i know this is a horrible situation for you to have to deal with is it better that you he hasn't met her does that make you feel knowing that it's not like and we bust people cheating all the time but to maybe know that It's just somebody he's paying, who knows, from a, you know, a porn site or something?

02:20:55 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Like, it's just a different type of, like, deceiving heartbreak. I don't know. It's like asking me if the other woman is a friend or a stranger.

02:21:16 - 02:21:40 | Speaker 2:

I know. I know. It's a bad question. to ask you i'm sorry about that but i just i like i sit there and every week we do this and we we have people that uh find out that their spouse has been in long-term relationships and i know it's just as bad but i'm gonna i'm gonna have you hang on for one second okay okay mojo in the

02:21:40 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 6:

morning heather hi hi i think he is being hustled by someone that's catfishing them and it just cost him his relationship because regardless if he's met her or not or not that's cheating

02:21:54 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 2:

yeah i don't you so you think the catfishing thing i i don't know i'm i'm to me i don't uh know if it's a catfishing or if it's he's got some cam girl or he's doing some kind of an only I don't know what exactly you would even call it. And I felt bad, by the way, and I know that some people are upset. It's funny. Listeners crack me up because they get upset about some things sometimes that, to me, they should not get upset about. People are upset that they don't like the rock music that's played in the background of the War of the Roses. They're more concerned about the rock music. But then there are others where I get their point. maybe it wasn't in uh you know a good thing to ask her maybe it was insensitive to ask her like okay should we you know is it okay i mean because honestly the first thing that i was thinking of the whole time was if if i my spouse is cheating on me i'd rather my spouse not have a relationship with somebody that they can actually physically touch or right or possibly possibly know their

02:22:57 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 3:

name you know right so can i tell you what i'm upset about though yes i've never once thought of picking up my phone as my own self-answering system yeah wait was that him was that can i oh that absolutely was him and i need you to know that that is the funniest thing that has ever happened during war of the roses you don't think that was a recording you think our cell phone we called a cell phone correct the one that we called the first time that it didn't answer like that and then all of a sudden after he got caught it's this is an answer wait gino go go back on

02:23:31 - 02:23:35 | Speaker 2:

that one. Rewind on that one and get me that. Hold on a second here.

02:23:37 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm an automated calling assistant recording this call for the person you're trying to reach. Can I ask what you're calling about?

02:23:50 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry? I'm looking for Gino. Thanks. Connecting you now. i mean what come on was it i don't know megan that was kind of wild that's crazy you don't

02:24:07 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

think that was him scared crapless trying to figure out a way to not talk to us the the fact that he committed to the thanks connecting you now is absolute gold um marlene what did you want to

02:24:22 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 5:

say where are the roses i want baby girl to empty her account right now before the actually whoever's on the other line gets all her money because it's billy or charlie or something because dude is

02:24:36 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 2:

spending his money on somebody that he can't even be with you're absolutely right and i believe that she needs to be very very careful with her finances right now knowing that he's taking

02:24:48 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 5:

money out a lot of money and megan i 100 agree dude is slick she needs to just just cut her losses. I'm usually with the guys that you guys call.

02:25:00 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 6:

but I'm 100% on the female side this time. Barleen, isn't it almost scary how quickly he came up with that plan? It is actually hysterical, but it's creepy to know how fast that came to him. Who even has that on their phone?

02:25:14 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 3:

At first, I thought it was one of those Google numbers. That's what I thought too. I don't know if you have the option to personalize it, but is OnlyFans cheating?

02:25:24 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 4:

That's what I wanted to ask the listeners about. Is this an OnlyFans thing and do you look at it? I think it is cheating. It's emotional cheating. Hey, Cheryl, what's up?

02:25:34 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mozo. Good morning.

02:25:35 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. War of the Roses.

02:25:38 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of odd that he doesn't know this other person, but when you asked him who Maria was, he never once had said it was his wife.

02:25:45 - 02:25:46 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah, right.

02:25:47 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 2:

Why would he not say that? You know, it's my fault. It's just somebody I know.

02:25:51 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 4:

He didn't know where that was coming from. He couldn't have his automated guy jump on fast enough at that time. Alex, what's going on?

02:25:59 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 8:

mojo in the morning hi mojo um so i have a different perspective on things i was in an open marriage for a while and my husband did not like going and hooking up with other people he liked it when i did it so it was really weird but like i like to play devil's advocate and these kind of things like yes it's cheating it's terrible it's gonna break her heart but at least he's not running around with some girl down the street like it's almost like i look at like only fans and all that almost like a celebrity crush like it's like a porn star and of course it's wrong but what if you meet them face to face and what if you have sex with them face to face then yeah that that's well it's cheating either way yeah um i'm just saying like kevin had just mentioned like is that really cheating like emotionally absolutely physically um if he's meeting her

02:26:54 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 4:

in real life you know absolutely but so if i so if i if i am uh having an a fair relationship an emotional relationship with somebody that works at the radio station that's cheating but if i'm having the same non-physical but just talking dirty and maybe getting pictures sent back and forth with somebody that works on only fans but i don't you know necessarily come in contact with personally that's not cheating no they're both cheating okay but what i'm saying is

02:27:29 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 8:

it's the lesser of two evils yeah right exactly like i think that i would be more hurt if i knew um you know the guy that i was with was running around with someone at his work than him exchanging messages online especially if he's giving her money and stuff like that it's almost like a sugar baby situation where it's like if he, you know, he thinks he's getting something out of it that, you know, whether it's filling that box for him and ooh, it's new, ooh, it's exciting you know for her, I think it's just a little bit of a silver lining, I always look for the silver lining, it's like he's paying for it, it's basically

02:28:08 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 4:

he wants, but it's his wife's money

02:28:10 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 8:

getting a strip of money, you know that's wrong, I totally think that's wrong absolutely, but the big question

02:28:16 - 02:28:25 | Speaker 4:

that we have to answer, and that is going to be answered by jen jen answer it for us please that digital assistant thing that's a real thing

02:28:25 - 02:28:33 | Speaker 7:

wow it's kind of like a thing okay answering machine but yeah it's weird well all right

02:28:33 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 4:

i'm going to use this by the way just as my voicemail box number hi i'm an automated calling

02:28:37 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 5:

assistant recording this call for the mojo yeah but it does sound like him megan's right it does

02:28:44 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 4:

Sounds exactly like him. All right. War of the Roses.

02:28:47 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses. The throwback throwdown. And the dirty on the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:29:00 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon. We're live at the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. Great Lakes Broadcasting and Sports Media Academy. Nailed it. That's a mouthful. we got to talk here in a second about you guys getting escorted off the field and they weren't even streaking we'll talk about that during this uh dirty report here what's going on shannon

02:29:23 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 5:

well vice president kamala harris formerly why do you take your headphones off because i cannot

02:29:28 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 4:

hear a dang thing except for static what is going on no it's all of them what is happening here huh

02:29:34 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 5:

it's actually better if i just listen to the speakers around here i've already declared by

02:29:38 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 4:

the way just so you know that uh like uh vice president harris had to uh concede i have conceded that i will never do another broadcast ever again there's that grouch live out of the studio i already told tony i'm gonna i'm not gonna tell colleen she's dealing with some family stuff but we're not doing it anymore if i

02:30:00 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 2:

heart doesn't get us a situation where i don't have to do mic checks for an hour of the of the goddamn show i'm not doing these things i i'll literally take a sick day if i have to uh and we can set up a little live remote with uh you know who whoever uh bianca can be out there or

02:30:23 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 4:

something what's going on shannon okay so kamala conceded the presidential election yesterday and She urged her supporters to never give up on the fight for our democracy.

02:30:32 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 1:

I don't concede this election. I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign.

02:30:40 - 02:31:16 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys think, here's a question. Do we think that it's time to move on from Vice President Harris? Do you think, because I was watching yesterday, Wolf Blitzer was on what, CNN? I was watching Wolf Blitzer, and they were talking, and they said the future now of the party has to move to Governor Whitmer. They also said they mentioned some other people that were in there that they liked. They liked the governor of California, Gavin Newsom. Do we think that Vice President Harris, this is it, she gets like a one and done on this deal?

02:31:16 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't think she's necessarily a shoo-in, but I think it would be interesting to have her be a part of the next debate, or what do they call it when they're all running to get the nomination?

02:31:29 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 2:

The primaries. The primaries, sorry.

02:31:31 - 02:31:42 | Speaker 3:

So I think with her, though, we're all underestimating that her campaign was essentially two months long, and she competed against somebody who had been campaigning for years.

02:31:42 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 2:

Do you think, though, that it don't you think that Michelle Obama would have won an election like this?

02:31:48 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how that would have won either way, but I know that that's never going to happen. And I think until the party moves on from hopes and dreams and goes with these are the candidates that we should be focusing on and giving a platform outside of just primary races and election times, but making sure that they're on their own news networks doing interviews regularly, becoming names. I think that hurt her. I think that's something that Fox News does very, very well is platforming tons of politicians throughout the years.

02:32:20 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 2:

Harris did a bad job because she waited too long to go out and start doing interviews.

02:32:24 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 3:

How was she supposed to do anything before that?

02:32:27 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 2:

She had 100 days. She had 100 days, and it took her 50 days, minimum 50 days, for her to go do her very first interview. She was trying to not do interviews. She was hiding from doing interviews.

02:32:39 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 3:

I don't think that's the case. I think that she threw together a full presidential campaign in three months. And you need a month to prep and hire your team and come up with a plan and organize dates. And I don't think it's necessarily fair to be like she didn't do anything for those days.

02:32:58 - 02:33:44 | Speaker 2:

I think that, honestly, I think that this is what I think cost her this election. I think she did have a short time I think Joe Biden stayed in too long But I think Joe Biden and her The last four years People were like you know what We want something different And I think honestly I'm going to say this with her I think with her One of the biggest problems that she had was A lot of people didn't know her very much The vice president nobody really knows I agree I don't know who J.D. Vance is I have no clue And I probably won't know in four years But I think that they need to They needed somebody that was going to be If they were going to switch out Joe Biden They needed to switch out with a bigger name And they needed, honestly I think they should have done Gretchen Whitmer I think that she would have had a better candidacy

02:33:44 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 3:

It's tough, it's a tough call Yeah, a couple of follow-ups

02:33:48 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you and I should do a political podcast

02:33:49 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 3:

I would love to do that Let's do it

02:33:53 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 4:

I would love to talk about anything other than politics But I do have to give you some follow-ups here In the wake of President-elect Trump's win, the Department of Justice is removing Jack Smith as special counsel and dropping his two federal criminal investigations. So the DOJ removing Smith because they've acknowledged he can't prosecute a sitting president. So he will be gone from his position before the president-elect is officially inaugurated. Also, stocks rallied to close at record highs yesterday in the wake of the election results. The Dow, S&P 500, and NASDAQ each ended at record levels. I know Bitcoin also hit a record high. Jennifer Lopez totally dodged a question about her soon-to-be ex-husband Ben Affleck at the UK premiere of their movie Unstoppable. I think he's a producer and she's in it. So let me backtrack a little bit. Earlier this week, a reporter asked Ben about Jen's performance in the movie.

02:34:52 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. I'm not in the studio, so I'm tense.

02:34:55 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

I would describe all of the time. He he answered

02:35:00 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 2:

Gave her a compliment. He answered with three words. She is spectacular. And everybody went wild. So yesterday, a red carpet reporter asked J-Lo how she felt about Ben's producing. And she gave a pretty broad and very vague answer.

02:35:17 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. Do you want me to hit it now? Should I hit it now? Yeah. Yeah, you can do it. All right. Here we go. I would describe.

02:35:22 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 3:

I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful.

02:35:29 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 2:

She talked about the entire group

02:35:31 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 4:

And not him

02:35:32 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 2:

No direct comment about Ben Affleck Which was kind of smart That's so unlike her though, you guys

02:35:38 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 3:

So unlike her And lastly I love when Kev's not here to defend her

02:35:43 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 4:

By the way, let's do some Kanye stories too

02:35:46 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 3:

He's probably going to start texting us in a second

02:35:47 - 02:35:52 | Speaker 4:

Give me a dirty story about Kanye Just because he can't defend the guy right now

02:35:52 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 3:

Are you ready for this? That guy just needs to shut up Kanye Oh, I could say it

02:35:58 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 4:

3, 2, 1, check your text. Hold on. Kev just sent me a call here right now. Megan, I will get you.

02:36:03 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 2:

I don't care. Ariana Grande has been pivoting back to musical theater while working on the movie Wicked, and she's loving it. She was on your favorite podcast yesterday, and she was real candid about wanting to return to Broadway someday.

02:36:19 - 02:36:38 | Speaker 1:

I'm always going to make music. I'm always going to go on stage. I'm always going to do pop stuff. I pinky promise. but I don't think doing it at the rate that I've been doing it for the past 10 years is where I see the next 10 years. I think I love acting. I love musical theater. Yeah. Okay. I'm just

02:36:38 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 3:

going to promote this. That's in her fake voice. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Now I'm going to argue with you because I'm very excited for this movie and there's nothing I hated more than Austin Butler when he did his weird Elvis voice for years promoting that movie. Ariana Grande did it got so much backlash for talking like linda she's finally back in her normal voice but that lost culture he says is an i heart podcast it is such a good podcast i cannot what is it called las culturistas they talk about pop culture with pop culture icons and i absolutely love it but bowen yang from saturday night live is one of the hosts of this podcast and he's in wicked with her it's very fun to listen to this interview if you are excited for the movie you get a lot of very cool behind-the-scenes stories because they're both in it. Sorry. I nerded out for a second, but I'm very excited

02:37:27 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 2:

for this movie. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, you can get caught up by checking out the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:37:34 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 4:

Celebrity Dirt. Directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Alright, Mojo in the Morning show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I've got to tell a quick little story here. Shannon, you've got sisters, right?

02:38:07 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 2:

I do. I'm the oldest of three.

02:38:09 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 4:

KP, you have a sister, right?

02:38:11 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 2:

I do. I have one sister.

02:38:12 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 4:

And what's the age with you guys, you and your sister?

02:38:16 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 3:

Emily is 21. And I'm 25.

02:38:19 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 4:

This is perfect for both of you guys. Megan, you're not participatory, although you'd like to, unless maybe this has happened with your brother. I'll ask this, okay? Chelsea has a friend named Katie who is single, and she has been dating and has had a situation happen to her that, to be quite honest with you, was very embarrassing, But also, honestly, I think she was heartbroken. She went on a date with a guy that she met on Hinge. They were out and talking. She liked him. Cute guy. Everything was good. And throughout the date, he kept referring back to knowing her sister, who her sister is, her younger sister, who's like four years age difference. Katie is in her 40s. She's like 40 or 39, 40. her sister is in her 30s okay her sister her sister is recently divorced too so guys like out they're talking they're hanging out talking a little bit about oh yeah i know your sister i met your sister blah blah blah about your sister your sister kept bringing up her sister well it didn't sit well with her and the reason why for years she has always had guys that have dated her but constantly talked about her sister even some guys that have taken it to the level of going out with her and then going out with her sister or trying to go out with her sister so she leaves the date not sitting well thinking that she grew up

02:40:00 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 1:

out of this whole thing goes on to instagram and notices this guy is blowing up her instagram with comments and and uh harding everything is my headphones going out or just my mic that's why i can't hear anything so is it my headphones or is it just my is my microphone i think it's just your headphones okay good okay good so i just keep on talking so i said to her i go well i kind of actually think that this is relatively amusing but he's got to get through you to get your sister and your sister's not going to be interested in him but who's the next best thing what do you mean

02:40:41 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 2:

you that is so offensive are you kidding me why oh my god nobody wants to be second place especially when it comes to your love life like that is that's terrible i get your sister so i

02:40:53 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 3:

guess you'll do at least i'll see her at like christmas right no what is wrong with that

02:41:00 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 2:

that is terrible terrible i just mix terrifying and terrible together do you remember that's what

02:41:05 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 1:

is it again terrible terrible and it's terrible is that wicked to speak or something like that it's thrillifying too much caffeine okay so i asked this question i'm just gonna throw this out there and then i want to talk more about this i want to know if anybody has ever lost

02:41:23 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 3:

a date to a family member sister cousin mom mom with our listeners we've had that many times over

02:41:33 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 1:

megan i'll bring you in on this i know you felt left out when i said this because i know you don't have a sister have you ever lost uh i have not a girl to your brother i have not you've never

02:41:43 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but I will say it is weird when your little siblings start dating because my sister did go on some dates with a guy who was two years older than me and went to high school with me.

02:41:53 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so that's weird to me. So that's what I was going to say. My middle sister was dating guys in my grade. Yeah, that's weird to me. And that is very, very interesting.

02:42:05 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 1:

All right, so 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 or text 95500. This recalls back to Slim when he was on our show and he made a comment that I don't even know if you remember, but I remembered at the time because I thought it was so funny. When he saw a picture of your sister for the very first time and said, how are you guys sisters? Do you remember that?

02:42:28 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 3:

How are you guys sisters? I was like, that is quite possibly the most offensive thing you've ever said to me. And then I brought her to one of our concerts, like a big show or something that we did and he slim i love you you ignored me all night just trying to get with my sister

02:42:44 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 1:

oh my god um i so i i did say to so with katie that this is something that you would think would be a thing that would happen when you were a teenager or in your 20s maybe 30s you don't you think guys would grow out of this but a guy to sit there and sit there you know talk about that

02:43:02 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 3:

Not even grow out of it, but at least be smart enough to not blatantly say that to somebody's face like this guy in Katie's case did. What? You're asking a lot of people. I know I am. But, like, dude, you're in your high 40s or low 40s, whatever, high 30s.

02:43:19 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 1:

Come on. KP, I will say this to you. You recently went to Philadelphia, right, is where your sister is? You recently went to Philadelphia. You posted you and your sister. Did you see the comments on our social media?

02:43:31 - 02:43:32 | Speaker 2:

What did they say?

02:43:32 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 1:

The guys were all going crazy over your sister.

02:43:34 - 02:43:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. My sister is stunning.

02:43:36 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 1:

She is a very beautiful girl. You guys both are very beautiful, but you guys have a different look.

02:43:40 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 2:

We are a Penrose. When you look at our face, we are related. People know we're a Penrose, but we are two different fonts. Does that make sense?

02:43:51 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 3:

You have two very different styles, too.

02:43:53 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 2:

But we're so similar. If you were to talk to her, we have some of the similar mannerisms.

02:43:59 - 02:44:04 | Speaker 3:

If I saw her in here in Ford Field, I could look at her and go, oh, she's related to Katie a million percent.

02:44:04 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 2:

Same with all my brothers. You see one of my brothers, you know we're related. But yes, Emily, yeah. Guys hit on my sister. She's also very charming. She's a bartender. She's an artist. She's got an energy and a vibe. And I like to see that my sisters get has game, but it's also weird at the same time.

02:44:22 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 1:

But I'm not going to lie. If I was your sister, I wouldn't want you around either. You're a very attractive person, And I could only imagine that you would end up taking some guys.

02:44:31 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 2:

Emily pulls more than I do.

02:44:33 - 02:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:44:33 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. She does not. Yeah. She wouldn't mind if I was around.

02:44:36 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 1:

Is it her carefree attitude? It is. Maybe we need to have a carefree attitude.

02:44:42 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she needs to replace me.

02:44:45 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no. Can she do TikTok?

02:44:48 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she can. She's actually a very, very good graphic designer. She's going to school for design.

02:44:53 - 02:44:53 | Speaker 1:

Give me your number.

02:44:54 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I will. Kitty, what's going on, Kitty? Oh, I got it.

02:45:00 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 5:

I brought this girl back to my house one night, and I slept with her. And then in the morning, she saw a picture of my brother and I on my dresser, and she said, that's my ex-boyfriend. Oh, no. Shut up. This is my twin brother.

02:45:14 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 1:

Wait, no, this is, you're lying to us now.

02:45:17 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 6:

I'm not lying.

02:45:20 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 1:

Your twin brother.

02:45:22 - 02:45:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she said, I know him. I said, that's my twin.

02:45:26 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 1:

Are you guys identical?

02:45:28 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:45:30 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my effing God.

02:45:32 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 6:

He's obviously got it tight. And it happens to be two people look the same. Yeah, but, you know, it's different when we're naked. Be honest, though.

02:45:42 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 5:

Who's hotter, you or your twin? I mean, I'd like to say me as a female. He's kind of a, you know, kind of a douche. Oh, I'm, okay.

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, which one of you guys has a bigger penis or a better vagina?

02:45:57 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 5:

I'm dumb. You know, I'd say it's me. It's the sweetness.

02:46:02 - 02:46:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, what do they call it again when you are twins, but you're a boy and a girl? Is there a name for that or no?

02:46:10 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I think we're Eskimo twins at this point.

02:46:14 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 1:

By the way, this might be the greatest call we have ever gotten, and we got the first one off the bat. I love you, Kitty. Thanks for calling.

02:46:22 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 4:

Have a great day, guys. You too.

02:46:24 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 1:

That's unbelievable. So not only did you get in bed with a girl, you got in bed with a girl that was with your brother. What's up, Suzanne? Hi.

02:46:34 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning.

02:46:35 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. We're talking about have you ever lost a relationship to a family member?

02:46:44 - 02:46:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was dating a guy. He took me out to dinner, broke up with me, and told me he was breaking up with me because he wanted to ask my older sister out.

02:46:56 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wow.

02:46:57 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 3:

Did your older sister go out with him? She did not. Okay. Well, he was there.

02:47:02 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 1:

It was a hard move for her. How old were you guys?

02:47:07 - 02:47:11 | Speaker 3:

I was in my early 20s. She's four years older than me.

02:47:11 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 1:

That's got to be tough. That's got to be a very, very tough thing.

02:47:14 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 3:

He's too old for that. He did say you can take me home now. We did leave. I had nothing to say. He dropped me off. He apologized. Like, he tried asking her out. She said no, and that was that. How long were you with this guy before he tried to pull this? Yeah, no, it really wasn't for us. No, that's never happened to us before. She's four years older than me. We never had a crossover.

02:47:36 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 1:

Quick question. Megan brought up a really thing. How long were you with him before he actually said that about your sister?

02:47:44 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 3:

Did I lose you?

02:47:46 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 1:

No, so you can't hear us at all? Can you hear us? Hello?

02:47:49 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 3:

No, we're back. It's my location. I live in the mountains.

02:47:52 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Megan, ask her that question, because she couldn't hear you because of herself.

02:47:56 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 2:

How long were you dating this guy before he pulled this? Months. So at what point did he think, you know what, I'd love to show up at Thanksgiving with another sister?

02:48:07 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. You know, I took him to, my sister had like a July Halloween party or something, and I took him to a party, and that's where he met her. Wow. It was, yeah, and he was a few years older than me anyway. You know, I was still out running, and he was ready to settle in. Don't make excuses for him.

02:48:27 - 02:48:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:48:28 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 3:

Whoa, is that what it sounds like? Okay. Well, I guess I wasn't that interested. How about that?

02:48:33 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 1:

You know why I love this topic and why this topic makes me laugh? I know I'm better looking than my siblings. I'm the best of all of mine. So my brothers, Sarah, you've met them. Shannon, come on. You're going to test this. I'm definitely better looking. It's good to be the baby of the family And it's good to be the better looking one too Alright, thank you for the call I appreciate it Mariah is the capper You thought that the twin was a good call Mariah, are you there? Yeah, hi Mariah, tell everybody about Losing a significant other To a family member

02:49:09 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 4:

So, I left my ex For his dad Mariah Shut up. Come on.

02:49:17 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 2:

Ta-da!

02:49:17 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:49:18 - 02:49:19 | Unknown:

Ta-da!

02:49:19 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so obviously you were cheating on your ex with his dad.

02:49:23 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 4:

No. No. I found out that he was cheating on me. He was constantly accusing me of cheating on him with his dad.

02:49:31 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:49:32 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 4:

So when I found out, I sent a picture to his dad, and three years later, we're married.

02:49:40 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 1:

You are so inappropriate.

02:49:42 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 2:

It's crazy. You didn't even just hook up. You were like, I'm going to commit. So what is their relationship like now? What's the dad-son relationship like?

02:49:50 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 4:

Is there one? It's good now. It's kind of like back to normal. In the beginning, it was pretty rough for them, but...

02:49:56 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, just ask the question that you want to ask.

02:49:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 5:

i be honest with you i want to see what dad looks like and i want to know who's got the better penis

02:50:03 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 2:

yes yeah we knew it i want to know dad uh that's what everybody says whatever they say they hooked up with dad and son everybody says the dad was better every time i mean they got the years of

02:50:15 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 5:

experience there you go sorry i hope my sons aren't listening right by the way the michigan association of broadcasters where we're broadcasting today just said this is a great topic to bring up

02:50:29 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 4:

with them. I love that. WPQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live.

02:50:41 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 5:

Let's get even a better topic in here. Mojo in the Morning Show. We're live at Ford Field, the home of the Detroit Lions for the Michigan Association of Broadcasts Great Lakes Broadcast and Sports Media Academy event that is going on here today. I have to say that Like a broadcaster. Shannon, this is a topic that Lydia chose. I just want everybody to know she chooses the topics that we do. And I think it's appropriate to do this here. I can't have sex if blank.

02:51:14 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I know a lot of people, probably a popular answer would be if my breath is bad, if I just went to the bathroom. But for me, it's if my feet are extra dry.

02:51:26 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, understandable. I'm 100% on board with this.

02:51:30 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 6:

So if my heels in particular are, like, scratchy and, you know, need a little something done, need some lotion, I am so self-conscious and I do not want to have sex. And so you're looking at my feet right now. I was going to say if I could see. So last night, for example, I knew, like, that Wes wanted to have sex. Yeah. And it's weird with, like, just a bunch of people around us right now doing this topic. Anyway. um and so but my feet i looked at my feet i'm like my feet look terrible they're so dry so i bought this like rando pumice electric pumice stone thing on instagram that instagram ad will grab you i don't know what it's called but buy it it is worth every single penny send it to me so i while he was like downstairs getting water or whatever he was doing i don't know i literally went in my bathroom i grabbed that thing i did my heels really quick i did the sides of my toes put some lotion on, and we were good to go. Had I not done that, I would have been, quote, unquote, too tired. It's just like a – it's something I'm very self-conscious about.

02:52:32 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 5:

How bad can your feet be that he would notice your feet when he's having sex with it?

02:52:36 - 02:52:52 | Speaker 6:

Quite honestly, he probably wouldn't, nor would he care. It's just me being like, I don't want my dry feet rubbing up against his naked body. Would you throw on socks? No, because I am not a sex with socks on person. Yeah. Have you ever tried Ugg boots?

02:52:53 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 3:

I think those platform ones now give you a little height in the bedroom might be helpful. You're joking or have you ever done that? Oh, God. Could you imagine somebody leaving their dirty Uggs on in bed? I would vomit.

02:53:04 - 02:53:08 | Speaker 5:

I know guys that are hot for girls that have sex with their heels on, though.

02:53:08 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 3:

I get that, though. I feel like that's a little bit different. Those are sexy. They make your legs longer and they make your calves look all nice. Ugg boots are, I say this, owning five pairs of them. They are lazy girl shoes that are just comfortable. They're the best. You don't want lazy girl shoes in the bedroom.

02:53:27 - 02:53:46 | Speaker 5:

My beautiful wife, Chelsea, will not have sex if she hasn't showered. So if it comes to a point where she's like, all right, you know what, I'm going to give in, she will go to the shower, which always was an indicator for me. I think I'm getting laid tonight.

02:53:46 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, which I get that one, by the way. I feel most confident if I've showered right before.

02:53:51 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 3:

Who's like, I like a little stank on me?

02:53:53 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 5:

You know what? I don't ever smell stank, which I always joke with Chelsea. Like, I can't tell. She'll say, oh, my hair is so greasy. I'm like, I do not see grease in your hair.

02:54:03 - 02:54:07 | Speaker 3:

But at the same time, if you're going to have a good time together, you're going to get gross.

02:54:07 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 5:

It is so crazy to do this show in what looks like the hallway of a high school. I am so uncomfortable. As kids are walking by us from high schools in the area and colleges in the area that are future broadcasters. And we're talking about stank and sex and all the rest of that stuff. Voice Disguise, initial A. Shannon, initial A, says that she cannot have. Jesus Christ. What was that? Is that the announcers? They're making announcements, yeah. Shannon says that she cannot have sex if her feet aren't soft. What's yours? Hi.

02:54:48 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I was dating this girl, like, and we were consistently having sex for, like, a couple months. And, like, after a month, she started suggesting that we have sex with her sister. sister so after that i got i got kind of like freaked out and we were still hanging out but we just weren't having sex and she just kept bringing it up and bringing it up and bringing it up and i just wouldn't do it until i just like finally broke after like a month what does this

02:55:16 - 02:55:26 | Speaker 5:

have to do with the topic no i think i think it's because the last topic that we did which lost a significant other to a sibling or to a family member okay so he actually no it's because like

02:55:26 - 02:55:30 | Speaker 1:

So what are you self-conscious of when you're having sex?

02:55:31 - 02:55:33 | Speaker 5:

No, he's still talking about the last topic.

02:55:33 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 1:

I was having sex with her sister, with her.

02:55:35 - 02:55:49 | Speaker 5:

He's having the topic that I did prior to your topic. We all flow into each other. We segue into each other. But he's bringing up the fact that the girl said she wanted him to have sex with her sister.

02:55:50 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 1:

I feel like you're just calling to brag at this point. That's amazing. No, no, I promise you. I promise you. Oh, good for you. And I just didn't feel cool with it, so I just didn't do it. How are your feet? Are they dry or are they smooth?

02:56:05 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 5:

Did you lotion today? Could you do me a favor? Could you get me their phone number?

02:56:09 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 7:

And I bet you have clear skin and a six-pack.

02:56:11 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 5:

All right, Angela's on your topic here. Angela's on your topic. Angela.

02:56:15 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know how to follow that one. But anyway. Oh, Lord. Anyway, come on, guys. Cut the toenails. Go get a pedicure. Stop scratching up my legs and ankles and all that.

02:56:31 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that should be one that guys are self-conscious about.

02:56:34 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 2:

Angela. Toenails. My toenails have to be smooth. You know, like Shannon said. Come on. It sounds so dumb. You can get them at the Dollar Tree. $0.99.

02:56:49 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 7:

It sounds dumb, but that is on my mind.

02:56:52 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 2:

I have that. I have the plum sting for the feet. You can borrow that. That will do just fine. Yeah. Come on, guys.

02:57:01 - 02:57:05 | Speaker 7:

Dude, when did people stop buying lotion? Like, what happened to that?

02:57:05 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 5:

You guys would never have sex with me then, because I'm going to tell you something. I think I've cut Chelsea's legs.

02:57:10 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

02:57:12 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I have. I know. It's awful. It's awful. Angela, thank you for calling. I appreciate you, Angela. Take care of yourself.

02:57:19 - 02:57:20 | Speaker 2:

Have a great day.

02:57:20 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 5:

You too. Brendan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Brendan?

02:57:25 - 02:57:54 | Speaker 4:

Hey, yeah, I was just calling about the lotion on the feet thing. Like, is that a girl thing? Like, is that something that, like, because my wife does that, and it drives me crazy. You don't like when she lotions up her feet? Well, like, we'll be like, and it's not even just before fun time, you know? It's just like, like, we'll be going to bed. It'll be four in the morning, and I look over. She's got the cuticle trimmers out, the nail file. It's like, you know, she's got a salon going on in the bed before bedtime.

02:57:54 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 7:

She's doing it for you, my friend. Yeah.

02:57:57 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 4:

I don't think so because I've told her, I'm like, listen, like, what is going on? I'll be like, she'll wake me out of a dead sleep.

02:58:05 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, so you can have soft, supple skin in bed with you and your comfortable sheets and not like, oh, there's nothing worse than when it feels like a stone is just against you in bed. And you're like, what is this?

02:58:19 - 02:58:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think that's what she says about my feet. Can I tell you?

02:58:22 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 7:

Do you think she's doing it in bed as, like, a cue for you to join her?

02:58:31 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 5:

Maybe.

02:58:32 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:58:33 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 5:

By the way, no guy cares about if a girl's feet are rough. No guy gives a crap.

02:58:38 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 1:

That's not true.

02:58:39 - 02:58:46 | Speaker 5:

Your man's metrosexual. I know. That is not true. There is no jam. Rochelle, what's up? Hi, Rochelle.

02:58:47 - 02:58:55 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Let me just start by saying if I'm drinking, this matters a little bit less. But I need to be shaved Yes

02:58:55 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 5:

Yes But it's fall Do you not have sex then in the fall or winter? I shave all year You still take care of yourself Even when it's cold outside, huh?

02:59:07 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 7:

I won't even do it all year But I'll do it when I know it's happening

02:59:10 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 5:

Is that by the way

02:59:12 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 6:

If I'm drinking, okay, maybe

02:59:15 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 5:

Is it a good sign, Megan For us to know that you're in a relationship If we look at your legs? Oh, God, no

02:59:21 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 7:

Well, yeah, maybe, maybe, or I need to fake tan and you need a smooth surface for that. So it's really hit or miss. But I knew it was sad one time when a boyfriend put his hand on my knee. I was like, oh, tonight I went, oh, wow. I've really showed you like only, only when I shave the legs are we doing this.

02:59:40 - 02:59:42 | Speaker 5:

Rochelle, take care of yourself. We love you.

02:59:44 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Lions coach Dan Campbell. Do you think about Mojo in the morning a lot? All I think about, man. We hear you, Dan. We appreciate you listening to the show. That's all I can think about is you guys and how I set you up for the best possible advantage I can give you to have a season. I swear to you, man. Thank you, Dan.

03:00:00 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 2:

We just want to make sure you're not the same old Lions after all this is done. I just need you to trust me, that's all. Okay, we trust you. Please. After hearing today's show, Coach Campbell, do you have any advice for this show?

03:00:10 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 1:

Let's be better tomorrow. We come to you live from Ford Field in beautiful downtown Detroit. I'm Jim Nance. Actually, you know what? We could say that. Like, we could do that. You ever see that at the beginning of the games when they did that? Jim Nance? Or no, like, well, I know you don't.

03:00:32 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 2:

Who is Jim Nance?

03:00:33 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 1:

You don't know who Jim Nance is?

03:00:35 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 2:

No.

03:00:35 - 03:00:35 | Speaker 1:

All right.

03:00:36 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, wait, even I know who Jim Nance is.

03:00:37 - 03:00:39 | Speaker 1:

Jim Nance and Tony Romo.

03:00:39 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 2:

That's not saying much. I'm sorry. I am so sorry to this man, but I do not know who he is.

03:00:45 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm Joe Buck. How about Joe Buck? Oh, I know who Jim Nance is. I'm sorry.

03:00:49 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 2:

Joe Buck needs to do something different with his hair dye.

03:00:52 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 1:

It's awful, isn't it?

03:00:53 - 03:01:10 | Speaker 2:

You know whose hair dye is really bad? Tom Brady's. Jeez. Tom Brady does not dye his hair. Wait, I don't think he dyes his hair. Oh, he absolutely does. It is an auburn brown that ends in a straight line on his sideburns that goes into gray. It is very clearly dyed.

03:01:11 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, call Katrina. We're going to ask her if he dies. There's no way. I want to know. Do you have Katrina's number at Six Salon?

03:01:21 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 2:

Can we find a picture of him from the past week? because my brother and I watched the game because Tom Brady was doing the commentary of it this past week and we kept laughing every time it cut to him. It was a straight line of gray when it was his beard and then it went into like an Auburn. He has perfectly not a single gray hair anywhere.

03:01:40 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 1:

Every guy has gray beards before they get gray hair.

03:01:43 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 2:

That's great. How old is Tom Brady?

03:01:46 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 1:

Tom Brady is 40-something.

03:01:48 - 03:01:53 | Speaker 2:

You're telling me that man doesn't have a single gray hair on his head? A single one.

03:01:53 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 1:

He's perfect. He's the girl.

03:01:55 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 2:

He's 47.

03:01:56 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 1:

Right. Why? Can I ask you a question? Why do you got to? She just told me. Brad Galley is here somewhere. Get him on the radio with us, too. She just told me the biggest conspiracy theory ever, too, during a break. She's got a Lions conspiracy theory to go along with this conspiracy theory about Tom Brady.

03:02:17 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 2:

I, and I, listen. You are. I'm a huge Detroit Lions fan. If you need to know anything about me, I have had a lifelong sadness relationship built on just disappointment and still commitment. I've never once broke up with this team, all right? I'm very, very excited that they are as good as they are right now. But you cannot tell me after watching last Sunday's game that everybody in New York associated with the NFL is not trying to get the Lions to lose more games so they do not end up in the Super Bowl.

03:02:49 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 1:

That is BS.

03:02:49 - 03:03:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm not kidding. The way that they called Branch out and they didn't call quite a few other targets that also happened that weekend with reviews, I think that right now they want the Chiefs to win three in a row because it's a great storyline. And they do not want the terrible Lions to be good because it doesn't fit their narrative.

03:03:09 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 1:

You are so wrong. They want the Chiefs and the Lions in the Super Bowl.

03:03:15 - 03:03:21 | Speaker 2:

I do not think they want the Lions in the Super Bowl. I think they would take the Bills or other teams that have larger fan bases.

03:03:21 - 03:03:37 | Speaker 1:

Well, the Bills and the Chiefs wouldn't be in the Super Bowl together because they're both in the AFC. But they would want – I think they would rather see – they wanted the Lions last year. And I – hey, listen, I will go with the Chiefs get every call ever. I don't know if you saw on TikTok last –

03:03:37 - 03:03:38 | Speaker 2:

It was so bad.

03:03:38 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 1:

Monday night, everybody was posting on TikTok that the Chiefs never get called for certain penalties. Like Travis Kelsey never gets called. They call it the Taylor Swift effect.

03:03:47 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 2:

The NFL is holding their hands to the Super Bowl.

03:03:53 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 1:

The Chiefs. I think I am so floored by your Tom Brady conspiracy that this conspiracy doesn't shock me as much as the Tom Brady conspiracy that you would say that my boyfriend would be dying in his hair.

03:04:08 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 2:

You don't have any of these conspiracies that you're behind right now, that you're into?

03:04:13 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, I've got tons of conspiracies. I think the world's been a conspiracy since 2020.

03:04:17 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but, like, not a serious one.

03:04:18 - 03:04:32 | Speaker 1:

No, come on. Well, okay, if you don't want to go serious, then I'll go with you on this. I've got a conspiracy that Kev wasn't really sick today, that Kev has probably right now got a Pistons game or something like that, that he probably was, I don't believe it.

03:04:33 - 03:04:37 | Speaker 2:

He's probably at Imagine Theaters right now. Yeah. With a bucket of popcorn, taking a nap.

03:04:37 - 03:04:55 | Speaker 1:

Would it not surprise you if Kev would go and then he would say, I'm resting, I'm just trying to rest, right? I'm just resting my eyes. I don't know. I believe that I, listen, I am a king of conspiracy. Maybe not the biggest conspiracy theorist on the show, Megan.

03:04:56 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think that I'm not a huge conspiracy theorist, but I think the one.

03:05:00 - 03:05:07 | Speaker 4:

that I'm going to talk on your behalf. I think the one that you are constantly trying to figure out right now is Travis Kelsey, Taylor Swift. Is that real?

03:05:07 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 5:

It's the biggest fake relationship ever.

03:05:09 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 4:

Which it is not fake. They are going to get married and have babies and live happily ever after. How many of you guys think

03:05:12 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Travis and Taylor is fake? Make some noise.

03:05:16 - 03:05:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. So many people agree with you.

03:05:18 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 5:

If you don't think it's fake, make some noise. Shut up. How many of you guys think that the NFL does not want the Lions to win a Super Bowl? Make some noise. How many think that the Lions, they want the Lions to win a Super Bowl? This is a great story. Make some noise. You guys are the worst. First off, you're a bunch of high school kids that have no energy right now. You need, I'll order Starbucks for all of you. You want Starbucks? Make some noise.

03:05:46 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Now they're talking. All right, there they go. You know who's a crazy conspiracy theorist? Who? Jed from the Joe Show. Oh, yeah. He said something last year that was debunked this year. He was like, I think that Tampa will never get hit by a big natural disaster because the weather is controlled by machines. A lot of people believe that.

03:06:05 - 03:06:10 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy to me. It got hit by two. Exactly. That is not an uncommon one. Gotcha, Jed.

03:06:11 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Blake, what's going on, Blake? It's Mojo in the morning.

03:06:13 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I agree with Megan that the NFL is out against the Lions. Thank you. Because that hit that Brian Branch hit, there was a guy in Seattle had the same hit. The same one. And I don't even think he got a flag. I think the announcers were like, oh, what a great hit. But then the Lions, oh, nope, it's a flag. And then New York calls in, throw him out. It's not the NCAA. You can't do that.

03:06:41 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 3:

I think you'll agree with me, sure, throw a flag on the play, give him a penalty, whatever. But the fact that there were so many other similar, if not worse, hits that weekend. And these alligator roles with quarterbacks have got to stop, by the way. we're going to snap somebody's ankle and it's not worth it. But the fact that there are so many worse hits that did not get any sort of ejection from a game, it's every time the Lions start getting ahead, all of a sudden there's a lot of crazy calls on us. And the best part was that it feels like for the first time in my lifetime watching a game, the calls didn't affect us in a way that cost us a win. It felt like back in the day when we were struggling, a lot of times we would get ahead and then we'd get these calls and it's like, well, I guess we're going to lose this one, too. Thanks, refs. But it was kind of fun in a way to watch us still beat Green Bay, even with all of these crazy calls. That's how good we are. But it does feel like every time we get good, the NFL goes, well, they can't be, so let's do something about it.

03:07:40 - 03:07:41 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Blake.

03:07:41 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, back in the day, like when the Calvin Johnson rule.

03:07:46 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's true.

03:07:47 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 4:

That was not a rule until that play. The completion, completing the catch-through. game against dallas they threw a flag for passing interference and then they picked it up by the

03:07:57 - 03:08:11 | Speaker 5:

way welcome to 97 won the ticket this is us uh megan and wojo i heard mojo that's my name uh wait hold on real quick i gotta ask you a quick question blake do you think that tom brady dyes

03:08:11 - 03:08:22 | Speaker 3:

his hair a hundred percent thank you it's so obvious it got a red tinge all of a sudden and and we're about to head in a winner. It's not even like a summer red.

03:08:22 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 5:

Get off my phone, Dick.

03:08:23 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 3:

You didn't put Sonnen in.

03:08:25 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 5:

03:08:51 - 03:08:54 | Speaker 3:

All I'm asking is for some fairness. No, I'm not a Bears fan. Definitely not a Bears fan.

03:08:54 - 03:08:54 | Speaker 2:

Never.

03:08:54 - 03:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Browns fan. What are you going to say? All you're asking is what? I just want some fairness, okay? You just want some fairness? I understand. What did you say?

03:09:00 - 03:09:01 | Speaker 2:

But it's the NFL.

03:09:01 - 03:09:03 | Speaker 5:

What did you just say? I just want some...

03:09:03 - 03:09:05 | Speaker 3:
