00:04:21 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I'm needed this weekend. Thank you, Jesus. Here we go. Welcome to the Mojo, the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is the Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. Yes. Look, no further. Welcome to the Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. It's officially Friday. We've got your Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show. Turn the radio on. This is the Mojo, Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:04:56 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 6:

This is the Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:05:00 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

And the guy's not feeling great. And the guy is not feeling great. Is that unbelievable? This man. I said, this man plays like LeBron, but he really plays like Michael Jordan. Playing through sickness.

00:05:30 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

I'll take you. I love it. Look at that jacket. You're so nice and bright and blue today.

00:05:33 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 1:

I love it. I had to distract you guys from thinking you would get sick from me. Oh, trust me.

00:05:38 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 2:

I took all my, like, immuno, blah, blah, blah, pills and nose spray today.

00:05:43 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

If I was going to get sick from anyone, I want to get sick from you. Amen. Give it to me. I love it. Do not touch me. Give it to me. I don't feel the same way about anybody else in this room. Go home. We're at full strength. It's Mojo in the Morning. It's been a crazy week. It's been an exhausting week. It's been one of those weeks where it's like, all right, we need the weekend. Why could we not have a three-day weekend? It would be nice, but we're going to really earn this one and deserve this one. I saw something really kind of interesting. Oh, you know what's funny? I think this, you know what this requires, this next story that I want to talk about here right now? What's that? I think it requires me to bring back something that we have, you know, had an opportunity to play on our show, but only get an opportunity once every four years. And that is our election coverage. This has to do with the election, but I have to say this to you. This is actually the most interesting thing that will come out of this election. Decision 2024. You ready for this one? It has been officially released right now We now know the results Of the true poll that matters Which state Had more searches on Pornhub election night This past Tuesday Ready for this You said the true poll? This is the true poll Now I get it

00:07:12 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 2:

Would this be because people were happy About the results Or people were depressed about the results I don't know

00:07:18 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 1:

Or it could be stress I don't know. When do you like to have one out? When do you like to enjoy one? Do you go to sleep? You do? To me, I always...

00:07:30 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if that was aimed directly at me. No. I hesitated to answer. That was my personal answer.

00:07:35 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 1:

I usually... I don't get horny. It's not like that I'm horny and want to do it. I think it's a stress reliever for me. So maybe it was a stressful night. Okay, so you ready for this one? We've got to give it to us. We've got to give it to the mitten. The people that, anybody that's listening to us in Michigan right now on great radio stations like Channel 955 and 104.5 SNX. We are one of the top states for going to Pornhub on election night. Is that unbelievable? No, that's not. Of course we're leading. We're a swing state. We are. It matches. We are. Actually, we're not the most of any of these states that did this. Let me go through the exact numbers here. Thank you, by the way. I appreciate the election coverage here. My name is Jake Tapper. Tapper out.

00:08:26 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

Don't do that.

00:08:28 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Data compiled by Pornhub shows that traffic was up 7% on average across the country. Which, by the way, we have to take into consideration that Pornhub is blocked in some states, Like Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Those states, by the way, have it blocked. Idaho can't even see porn? They can't get porn hub. You're shocked by that. I mean, it's really nothing to do there at this point, I guess. Among access, as far as states that were high on this list and states that did the most, the state of North Carolina was the number one state as far as percentage up, followed by Illinois. Oh, you got to give it to everybody that is hanging out in West Virginia. They're number three. And then Michigan, as far as top states for election night traffic. They say, by the way, the worst traffic for porn sites is Thanksgiving. What is that? Is it that you're just too full?

00:09:36 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 2:

No, you're with grandma. Yeah. Exactly. Your family's not putting you in the mood. Really? Unless you're weird. Which yesterday, after that topic, I mean, a lot of people are weird and attracted or married to their family.

00:09:47 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 1:

I would move all the coats off of the bed and say, you know what? I'll be back, guys. I'm going to go take a little rest.

00:09:54 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Also, you're just so full. I never want to have sex when I feel like I have a food baby. Thank you.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

And you're busy before you're full. I got things to do. Yeah, like, I just don't feel great about myself.

00:10:05 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 3:

Is there an oddity to when you have gone and said, I need to take care of myself? Like, is there anybody that does this, like, on their own birthday? Because I feel like it's lonely. Anytime I take care of myself, this is sad to say this, I feel lonely. Like, I feel like. Like, afterwards? No, well, I feel like, God, I wish I was, you know, I wish it was with somebody. You know, I wish it was with Chelsea. But I feel like I'm lonely. Also, I'm hiding in a closet usually.

00:10:30 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 5:

Before you say, wish I was with somebody.

00:10:32 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'd say somebody too. Honestly, I'd be fine with that.

00:10:36 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 4:

I need you to play that jelly roll, somebody save me.

00:10:39 - 00:10:39 | Unknown:

Exactly.

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

I also worry I'm going to get caught too. Like for some reason, I feel like a teenage boy whenever I'm doing it.

00:10:47 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 5:

Has Chels or anybody ever caught you doing that?

00:10:50 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't believe so. That might be a question for her. Next time she's on the show. So, Chelsea, Shannon's got a question for you here to ask you. Have you ever been caught?

00:11:00 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 5:

Me?

00:11:00 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:11:02 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. So many times? No, I don't think so. Like, not that I can recall. I don't think so.

00:11:09 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 2:

My mom said she caught me when I was younger. Really? She said she was walking. At my old house, like, you would walk down the hallway when you came up the stairs, and depending upon the angle you took, you could see clearly into my room. And I thought I used to do a good job of like, it was almost like the only time my door was ever closed is if I was taking care of my door. Like that was my tail sign. She said she saw me through the door one day.

00:11:34 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 3:

It didn't disturb me, which I appreciated. I loved our old house that we lived in because there was squeaky floors. So anytime that, you know, you'd see, hear somebody, you can hear them coming.

00:11:42 - 00:11:44 | Speaker 4:

Nightingale floors? Is that what they call them?

00:11:44 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Nightingale floors? Yeah. Something like that. Yeah.

00:11:46 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 4:

When you guys, squeaky floors so people can't sneak up on you?

00:11:49 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 3:

I actually, it sounds weird because I would sometimes have to listen with the sound down.

00:11:55 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's the best. Use your imagination.

00:11:57 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what?

00:11:58 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 2:

Or I used to get right up to the TV. Oh, really? Damn, you're 3D. You put it on the TV? Yeah. Back when I had my DVD player.

00:12:04 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

Remember I told you who you talk for? Okay, because I was wondering. Nowadays, it's all on sites and stuff like that.

00:12:10 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 2:

I mean, yeah, then you got to worry about if your Bluetooth is still hooked up.

00:12:12 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 3:

You got to be careful when you Apple share your stuff and you share it to the wrong television. Then you're in big trouble.

00:12:18 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 2:

To the Beats booth. Yeah. You wonder why you don't hear it.

00:12:21 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, have you ever had it happen to you where you were watching it and then you didn't clear out your cache?

00:12:28 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You give your phone to Josiah?

00:12:30 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 3:

Or you get into your car the next time and you turn the Bluetooth on in your car.

00:12:35 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 2:

You can read it on the screen.

00:12:37 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 4:

You don't shamefully close out of it at all the tabs and go, why did I pick that?

00:12:43 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 3:

Megan, yes.

00:12:43 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 2:

I never say why I don't pick it But I do feel a way when I keep going back To the same video That's my thing Why don't I mix things up

00:12:53 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever try to go back to the same video And you can't find it and you're like damn Why didn't I mark this one

00:12:59 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 4:

If you save any single tab I don't care I do not care You have to bank that in your memory hole Because if you save it I just go That's disgusting

00:13:09 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

Bank it or spank bank it By the way, Shannon, you're being awfully quiet right now

00:13:15 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 5:

I have to be honest with you I am not a porn watcher I know nobody believes me It's just not my thing Not that I have never I have before But I am not

00:13:27 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Good for you though Honestly, I go through periods You know how they do no shave November Or they do sober October

00:13:34 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 5:

I remember for a few years you gave up porn

00:13:37 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 3:

It makes me feel better

00:13:39 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Did you tell your priest that?

00:13:41 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 3:

Uh, I don't, I believe me. He told me that I needed to stop. What's up, Devin? Hi. Hey, can you hear me? Yeah. What's going on, Devin?

00:13:50 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

Uh, so when I was about, uh, had to be like 14 or so, me and my friends, uh, we stole a porn DVD from a store and I got caught.

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez.

00:14:01 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 1:

With a DVD on my laptop.

00:14:02 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. Who caught you? My mom.

00:14:05 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 5:

Now, was your mom more upset that it was porn in general, or was she more upset about the title and the content of the porn that you chose to steal? Or you stole it, yeah.

00:14:15 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 1:

My FYE store, FYE.

00:14:17 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, I know that. But, like, was she more upset about, like, the title, the specific content, or just that you stole in general?

00:14:27 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 1:

No, the fact that there was porn in there. She didn't know that we stole it, but...

00:14:31 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:14:31 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know FYE had porn.

00:14:34 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 3:

That's one of those ones you pass around to your friends.

00:14:36 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 5:

They did not have porn. They definitely did not.

00:14:38 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 4:

I went and got my, like, hands and suitcase there. Now, did you have one of those, like, adult warning, like, labels on it?

00:14:45 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you wanted, you were asking him or asking him? What's going on? Erin, what's going on?

00:14:51 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 2:

Hi. No, I used to work at Walmart for a very long time.

00:14:56 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 3:

And I had to work there at a late night. And there was. the customer that shot Pornhub up on every display show. Oh, my God. It's like 40-year-old Virgin or something. Yeah. Oh, and first time, long time. Hey, buddy.

00:15:11 - 00:15:12 | Unknown:

It's on the boat.

00:15:12 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

Aaron, how long was that up there before somebody stopped it? It was late at night, and a lot of the associates there don't know how to, like, even access all the TVs. It was probably up for a good two hours off.

00:15:24 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

00:15:25 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 3:

They had to go by and take every remote and shut every single TV off one by one.

00:15:30 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 6:

But surprisingly enough, you sold more TVs that night than any other time. Sarah, what's up?

00:15:36 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So talking about catching people doing you-know-what, I went to go start the car in the morning to heat it up, and my husband's car, the Bluetooth was connected to the car, and it came up what video he was watching. And what was he? I can't say that on here

00:15:55 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 6:

here tell us off here hold on tell me off here go ahead

00:15:58 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 3:

00:19:38 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:40 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 6:

Yesterday, Kev, we were doing The Dirty on the 30, and we had a couple stories that we were like, oh, if Kev were here, this story would be different. Well, I'm back, bitches.

00:19:50 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 3:

And you know what? I have a story to end The Dirty just for you. All right.

00:19:53 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 6:

Let's get into it.

00:19:55 - 00:20:03 | Speaker 3:

Starting off with a woman who claims that she worked with Jennifer Lopez in the early 10. 2000s. Oh, this is a good one. When J-Lo was dating Diddy. No, not this story.

00:20:04 - 00:20:10 | Speaker 2:

I know, but this is, Cav's good. I love J-Lo. He doesn't like us talking dirty about J-Lo. Okay, well, this is actually a good J-Lo

00:20:10 - 00:21:13 | Speaker 3:

story. So this woman is now weighing in on what she believes J-Lo knew about Diddy's alleged crimes. In a set of posts on Thread, Thea DeSousa, that's her name, says J-Lo did not have any idea about Diddy and what he was doing behind the scenes at these parties and so on and so forth. She writes, quote, if you knew Jennifer Lopez, if you ever worked with her like I did, or if you were close with people who are like family to her like I am, you would know she did not have any idea about Diddy. She does not deserve to be conflated with Diddy's shocking and criminal misdeeds. This woman also said, look, J-Lo barely drinks. She's not a partier. She isn't a let's go have a good time, girl. Rather, she described J-Lo as a workaholic who uplifts women and who was just charmed by Sean Combs for a brief time in her life. Since Diddy's arrest, J-Lo has yet to publicly address his arrest or any details related to all of the allegations against him.

00:21:13 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 2:

I really hope that's true.

00:21:15 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 3:

Do we doubt it? I mean, she was definitely at these parties But from a lot of the stories that I've been talking about in The Dirty in particular, she either left or he left with groups of people, it seems like kind of early in the night. But I mean, I don't know.

00:21:35 - 00:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Here's where it kind of makes sense to me, because like you said, Shannon, he had two different kinds of parties. He had like huge celebrity regular parties and then these freak offs pretty regularly. And if she wasn't a big partier, she wouldn't want to tag along to those other like freakier things. Yeah. So I think that that would almost be a good M.O. for him to like continue staying out and doing this behavior.

00:21:56 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 3:

And my girlfriend. I also dated somebody for like years who had a whole part of his life that I had a new idea about. So I can see where that I don't know. Let's give her the benefit of the doubt, I guess.

00:22:09 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And we'll learn. We'll learn in this trial whether or not she knew. And I would hope, even though I have certain feelings about her, I feel that she, I'm about to defend her. I feel like she's a girl's girl more than she is a guy's girl. And I would hope if she knew this was happening, she would report it to the police. You know what I mean?

00:22:32 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 3:

Okay, ladies, okay. Brianna, chicken fries split from Zach Bryan is getting even nastier. Now she's saying that the country superstar was emotionally abusive throughout their relationship. This is from yesterday's episode of her BFFs podcast.

00:22:47 - 00:23:25 | Speaker 1:

Like, I'm still scared right now because I'm, like, scared of him still. My brain's rewired. Like, I'm scared to make him mad. And last week, I didn't want to talk about it because I was scared. So I was like, yeah, we can just talk about this stuff that's public. You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice and to take money from you. sign their their experiences away sign what they went through away you get to go skip off and sing your little songs on stage like you're a good good dude i don't want in two years to buy a house and think oh this is the money from the dude that destroyed me and broke me for a year guys ready

00:23:25 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 3:

for this she said zach bryan recently recently offered her cash 12 million dollars in an attempt to buy her silence that's what she was referring to in that clip right there here's more this isn't

00:23:37 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 1:

me not signing the nda or not taking the money because i want to get on here and expose who he is and his secrets and all that i didn't take the money because i'm not signing away my experiences and what i went through to protect someone that hurt me and i'm a lot stronger than a weak man

00:23:53 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 2:

yeah any idea what he was doing she um from what i saw and i watched a big portion of that yesterday i didn't watch the whole thing i just didn't have time and a lot of really big podcasts came out yesterday um she didn't get into a lot of detail from what i heard but if that's not true i'd love for you to text me and give me some time stamps i'd love to hear it yeah and lastly here's

00:24:16 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 3:

the story for you kev because it was one of your halloween costumes i had to do this but break dancer reagan is retiring i know i put her out i put her out there faster well she said she just faced so much backlash from her performance at the paris olympics that the break dancer we all knew, well, came to know and love from Australia announced she is not doing it anymore.

00:24:37 - 00:24:41 | Speaker 2:

I still break, but I don't compete. I'm not going to compete anymore.

00:24:41 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 3:

No. It was just, it was too much

00:24:43 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

for her. Do you know what's crazy? On Halloween, she put out a competition that said that she would pay someone $5,000 and a duo $10,000 to battle her. So it was really weird that not even a month later, she's now bowing out. Yeah. Yep, she done. Took too much to the heat. She saw those moves.

00:25:00 - 00:25:06 | Speaker 1:

I can't compete. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

You guys.

I love Teddy Swims, too.

00:26:25 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 2:

I love it. It pays off. What's your sister's name?

00:26:28 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Amanda.

00:26:29 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 2:

Hello, Amanda. Enjoy Jingle Ball. We'll see you December 10th. Also, got to throw this out there. You're now in the running for a 2024 Kia Telluride. Could you use a brand new ride?

00:26:39 - 00:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. I'll wait.

00:26:40 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 2:

$50,000 from Summit Place Kia. That car is worth a lot. And you can win that by coming to our Jingle Ball. You can get tickets by winning them with us during the dirties or by going to Ticketmaster. 00:27:03 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:27:03 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 2:

Have a good day.

00:27:05 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. You too.

00:27:07 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Right as I was saying the whole Kia part, it was like, it sounded like a commercial there.

00:27:12 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 3:

I was walking into the Starbucks.

00:27:14 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. That sounded like a car going. What are you going to get?

00:27:18 - 00:27:20 | Speaker 3:

I got a peppermint mocha.

00:27:21 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 2:

Mmm. The season has arrived.

00:27:24 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they have their Christmas drinks out, yeah.

00:27:25 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, pop that thing in. Cav needs a medicine ball. Can you get him a medicine ball? Hook me up.

00:27:29 - 00:27:30 | Speaker 3:

All right, I'll go get it.

00:27:31 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 2:

Venti, nothing less. Please. Do they make that thing even bigger than Venti? No, they don't. Trust me, I asked. You asked for like a big old Trenta? I asked for the Trenta. He said he couldn't provide it. That's only for the cold cups or something, right? Yeah. I guess. All right.

00:27:45 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55. I think Starbucks should IV the medicine balls.

00:27:56 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 2:

Like, wouldn't it be great? I would love that. It'd be perfect. Like, okay, come on over here. We'll put your arm down. Which one is better? Got better veins.

00:28:02 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 3:

But they taste so good. They do taste good.

00:28:04 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 2:

Dude, they're incredible. You actually like the taste of them? Oh, I love it. You don't? No, I think that it's, well, I think it's because anytime I've eaten, or eaten them. I'm not eating a drink. Anytime that I've had them, I've not felt well, so it reminds me of being not so well. Like, I would not order it if I was feeling good. Although, I used to always just do Luden's cough drops just because they tasted good.

00:28:26 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 1:

They're candy.

00:28:26 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 3:

My kids get those for candy, those little cherry oval ones.

00:28:29 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 2:

Luden's cough drops. Triumphs. No, no, no, no. Delicious.

00:28:32 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 1:

What's the Ricolo one?

00:28:34 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 2:

Ricolo. These are honey.

00:28:35 - 00:28:37 | Speaker 1:

Those taste like turkey to me.

00:28:37 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:28:38 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 3:

They taste like meat to me. I'm not joking. They taste like meat to me. They kind of do, but they're still good.

00:28:43 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Megan's boyfriend, Derek, is back here. Hi, Derek. How you doing?

00:28:47 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 1:

00:28:59 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 1:

No, I was going to say that. I thought for a second that it sounded like Derek, unless you guys both have the same voice. Edward, how are you doing? Welcome to the show.

00:29:32 - 00:29:34 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? First time, short time.

00:29:34 - 00:29:41 | Speaker 2:

00:29:41 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 1:

00:32:33 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 1:

And question number five. Prince William's daughter apparently cried when her dad grew a beard for the first time. What's her name? It's going to be a tough one. What's her name? Three seconds. Prince William's daughter.

00:32:51 - 00:32:53 | Unknown:

Two. One.

00:32:54 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 1:

Can you repeat the question one more time, please? I'll give it to him. He asked for it before the one. Prince William's daughter apparently cried when her dad grew a beard for the first time. Three. What's her name? Charlotte. You Google that. Yeah, too. He didn't just pull that out of there. Even if he did. Three. Three out of five. I'm calling Google. You're calling BS on that one? I'm calling Google on that one. You're calling the Googles on that one? I'm on that one. Do we give it? Do you agree? Hell yeah. Okay. He didn't know that. All right. All right. Three out of five, but you may want to protest this one. Are you ready, Derek? Yeah, I'm ready. One of J-Lo's former assistants is detailing some of the crimes that Jennifer was most likely to witness during her time dating Diddy. Which of these celebs did J-Lo not date? A, A-Rod, B, Mark Anthony, or C, Miguel? Miguel. Yes. One to one. Question number two. Podcaster Brianna Chicken Fry is now alleging emotional abuse at the hands of her country music superstar ex-boyfriend. What's his name? Three seconds. Pass. Pass on that one?

00:34:12 - 00:34:13 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:34:13 - 00:34:52 | Speaker 1:

Edward said Luke Bryan. It's actually Zach Bryan. Yeah, one to one. Yeah, so nobody gets that one. Question number three. This reality star is under fire for debuting her holiday shapewear line amid the presidential election results. Who are we talking about? Holiday. Sale. Can you repeat that? This reality star is under fire for talking about her holiday shapewear line when the presidential election results were going on. Who are we talking about? Three seconds.

00:34:53 - 00:34:53 | Unknown:

Oh.

00:34:54 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 1:

Pass on that one. That is Kim Kardashian. Stayed one to one. We're down to these next two questions. We may have a controversy here. If he does not get both of these right, we do not have Derek back again, right? Correct. I think my man, we gave my man the last point, Edward from Pennsylvania? Yes, we did. Okay. That's crazy. Let's see what happens here. Question number four. This Kill Bill singer is turning 35 years old today. Who is she?

00:35:30 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Kill Bill's secret. Three seconds. Yeah, I'm not sure.

00:35:37 - 00:35:38 | Unknown:

What?

00:35:40 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 2:

We have new change.

00:35:41 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 1:

Kill Bill. Who sings Kill Bill, Edward? SZA. Yes. Let's see if he would get this next one right, just to end the controversy, because if he gets it right, then we got a real controversy on our hands. Question number five. Prince William's daughter apparently cried when her dad grew a beard for the first time. What's her name? Charlotte. Oh, my God. We got a problem. We got a problem. Why? No, we don't. We don't. Don't we?

00:36:13 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 2:

We got it right, so it would have been two to two.

00:36:16 - 00:36:17 | Speaker 1:

It would have been. Yeah, it would have been two to two.

00:36:17 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 2:

But it's two to three.

00:36:18 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 1:

I understand, but we gave Edward the question that he probably Googled. We're guessing.

00:36:24 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, let Bossy Bonnie decide. She's on the phone.

00:36:26 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 1:

We got to do a show tiebreaker. No, no, hold on. Would you know the show, Edward? You've only started listening to us for a short time.

00:36:35 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm confident, but anything's up to the ground.

00:36:39 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Let's go to the official judge of the Mojo in the Morning 5 at 6.55. Her name is Mojo in the Morning Misfit Bossy Bonnie. Bossy Bonnie, what are your thoughts?

00:36:50 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he lost. You cannot give him that. No. He Googled. Okay, so we're saying it's two to two, and we need to know the show tiebreaker question. Absolutely. His girlfriend told him. Okay, so you just outed yourself. Your girlfriend told you, which is not allowed. So it's two to two. It's not? Tiebreaker question. No.

00:37:10 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know that. All right. I didn't know that either, bro. I'm going to be honest with you.

00:37:15 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 2:

00:37:19 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 1:

00:40:38 - 00:40:42 | Speaker 2:

Winner

00:40:42 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 4:

00:40:47 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 3:

All I do is win I think this was Come on

00:40:55 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 4:

00:40:55 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 2:

Are these guys serious?

00:41:00 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 4:

Come on, Bonnie.

00:41:01 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that is so funny. If you need to study for tomorrow without your girlfriend, do some holidays. Yes, man. That's right, Edward.

00:41:14 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 4:

Derek, we got a parting gift for you, and it's Megan. We're giving you Megan.

00:41:20 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 3:

Honorable mention of smoke alarm, Edward.

00:41:22 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 4:

by the way can i can i tell you this might have been my most fun five of 655 i've ever been a part of i aside from when we learned of bossy bonnie yeah that might have been a good one too

00:41:36 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 3:

um thoughts it was you didn't enjoy it as much as i enjoyed it the first couple but after that

00:41:46 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you've got to be kidding me.

00:41:48 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Bonnie. All right, well, listen, Ed's back with us. Ed's back with us. He's coming back. He's a new listener, and he's from Pennsylvania. We've got a new listener from Pennsylvania. Yeah, but... All right. You've got to be nice to the new people.

00:42:01 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 3:

Okay, Bonnie, we know. You've got to cut me some slack, Bonnie.

00:42:05 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, Mojo in the morning. What's going on, Anita?

00:42:10 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning, everyone.

00:42:11 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, what's going on?

00:42:13 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 1:

I need a drink after that. It's Mojo in the Mornings. 5 is 6.55.

00:42:24 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning Show. We're at full strength today, which is so nice. It's Mojo, Shannon, Megan. Kev's back from being sick yesterday. We have KP, Lydia, and Zach here. Thank you. Bianca's also here, too. Can I say something real quick, Kev? Yeah, please. I'm happy that you took yesterday off. We did miss you. Yeah. But you, I talked about this, were amazingly like so disappointed in calling in sick. You did not want to take that day where most people would be like, hey, man, I just can't do it. I'm going back to bed. You were like trying to talk yourself into coming in.

00:43:00 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Charles Barkley has an amazing quote where he says, the best ability is availability. Doesn't matter how good you are. If you can't play, your skills mean nothing. So I pride myself on being available. So to not be here wasn't great. That's very rare.

00:43:15 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 1:

I just heard super selfish because you will risk other people's availability getting them sick by not staying home.

00:43:24 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 3:

And I want to say thank you to everybody who texts me and asks how I was doing. Everyone, except for Megan. No, that sounds right. Doesn't surprise me. That sounds right. Well, you're back. I'm glad you're feeling better. Oh, thank you.

00:43:36 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 4:

And you had to try to come up with some kind of a remedy for this illness of not feeling good.

00:43:45 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 3:

Man, and do y'all have like crazy home remedies or things that like, I don't know, your grandparents or your parents do or you found online? Vernors.

00:43:53 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 2:

Vernors fixes everything. It's like if you've seen my big fat Greek wedding, the Windex, in my family, it was Vernors. Like, you are dying, Vernors. It's going to bring you back to life.

00:44:03 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 4:

Chicken noodle soup. Yeah. And my friends in West of Bloomfield call it Jewish penicillin. So they say you get some good deli soup.

00:44:14 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 3:

So in my family, soup was one of the big things, too. Outside of... Vern's was a good thing. Robitussin. It didn't matter if you had the flu. It didn't matter what you had. Robitussin was like the cough syrup that you could take that. It should knock out anything. A Vicks Vapor Rub. Like, if you rub that on your chest, apparently my grandma thought that was just...

00:44:31 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 2:

Did you have the stick? My grandma would stick the stick up our noses.

00:44:34 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

I just rub it on my chest. I feel like she combed it out with her four fingers, everything but her thumb, and just whatever got there, slap it on my chest. And I caught my grandma because I'm trying to figure out, you know, my eyes are heavy, my throat hurts, I'm not really having mucus or anything like that. What should I do? And she reminded me, like, she used to tell me when I had soup to put cayenne pepper inside of it. And there was something that the cayenne pepper did that regularly.

00:45:00 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 1:

pepper didn't do cleared out your sinuses yeah like the mucus or something like that cleared out your sinuses so i look in the cabinet you know scour the cabinets and i find some cayenne pepper and i don't know if it was the sickness that had me doozy or woozy or what the case was but obviously when you have spices and you open it up there are two different openings you got the one without a little holes in it that you like sprinkle out and you got the other side which is the big side oh yeah i put the big side in oh no and i caught shaking one time it all falls in and i'm like all right do you just throw this away no you can't throw it away you're sick you don't want to keep cooking and i don't want to i don't like to waste food right so i'm like all right let's just whip this up a bunch of times and try to eat it man that first bite you would have thought i like and he'll sand it was like oh no but uh i'm here today so i guess it worked out maybe yeah

00:45:52 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 2:

maybe that's it isn't that what is it a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down please keep going medicine go down the medicine go down a spoonful of cayenne makes you oh my god crap your pants uh danielle hi what's going on hi how are you good we're happy to have kev back aren't aren't we?

00:46:13 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:46:14 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:46:14 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 6:

Thanks, Nayo.

00:46:15 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 2:

What is it? Danielle, what do you do when you're under the weather?

00:46:20 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 7:

I was always told if you cut onions up and put them in your socks and sleep with the onions in your socks, it's supposed to pull all the bacteria out of your body. Absolutely not. What?

00:46:30 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 2:

How do you keep onions in your socks? That's what I want to know.

00:46:33 - 00:46:44 | Speaker 7:

I put a slice of onion. If you put a slice of onion in your fridge, all the food in your fridge will go bad sitting next to the onion because it's pulling out all the bacteria in your food as well oh that's wild

00:46:44 - 00:46:56 | Speaker 2:

i never knew that that's a crazy bit uh what does your bed smell like after you had onions in your socks absolutely there's nothing i bet how about motion motion what was your little remedy that

00:46:56 - 00:47:16 | Speaker 3:

you would use um it was castor oil yeah growing up i'm from the city um i i never wore a coat i I used to always sneak outside in the winter without a coat. I'd come in coughing. My mom and my auntie was like, it's castor oil time. It was the worst thing ever, but still to this day, I live by it. Yeah. It works.

00:47:17 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 2:

That's a wild one. Castor oil.

00:47:20 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 3:

Worst taste in the world.

00:47:21 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 2:

I always felt like that was the punishment you got when you swore or something, you know, instead of sucking on soap. What's going on? How you doing, Heather?

00:47:29 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you?

00:47:30 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

00:47:31 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 5:

All right. So, big vapor rub, I swear, will solve everything. write down some colds to my grandma would even use it on my grandfather's eye for styes oh geez

00:47:41 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 2:

by the way do you know people that just smell like vix vapor rub like do you seriously i actually

00:47:45 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 6:

like the smell of it there's like i love the smell of it there's some people though that you you're

00:47:51 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 2:

like man i think their perfume or cologne smells like vix vapor rub that's because it is yeah

00:47:56 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 6:

uh amber what's up it's mojo in the morning good morning morning i was just calling to say i add turmeric in my chicken noodle soup it helps with like the inflammation in your sinuses and stuff

00:48:08 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 2:

yeah i i love going to uh beyond juice and getting a turmeric shots yeah they're so good for you yeah there's something about them you know when they're but you have to do it when they're cold like you cannot drink a turmeric shot and have it be warm trader joe's has them for way cheaper okay just saying you can get them there too uh what's up mike what's happening buddy hey how's it going

00:48:30 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 4:

mojo good man i just want to let kevin know on the cayenne pepper subject number one uh cayenne pepper is actually an anti-inflammatory that's why it's not the pepper itself that clears your sinuses it reduces inflammation in your throat and in your sinus cavity or opening the capillaries

00:48:49 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 2:

of your nose this guy what what do you do fancy fancy fancy pants i am actually a fire alarm

00:48:58 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 4:

engineer i just have a wife who's an amazing wife and mother and has does her research about the research yeah and then another thing for this is take some hot water two tablespoons of natural organic raw honey cut an orange in half squeeze the fresh orange juice of that for the acidity into the cup and then mix two tablespoons of sea salt stir that up gargle it and swallow it and it will solve any sore throat issue you have i've done that really yeah actually dr warner turned me on to that yeah yeah is that it i use it for my kids and just make them muscle it down because you know they don't like cough medicine my four-year-old she she won't eat like um any kind of medicine you know stuff like that but she will do that because it tastes like salty oranges kind of yeah with a little sweetness of honey and they'll drink it down and i swear they're like New kids in two hours.

00:49:55 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Cough medicine's BS anyway. Any pediatrician will tell you it doesn't do a dang thing.

00:50:00 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:50:00 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:50:01 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 2:

You're better off just doing honey to suppress a cough. I had no idea.

00:50:06 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 4:

I used to like, for also a sore throat, I used to like that throat spray. Yeah, the number one? It would numb it. It was so good. Anita shares Shannon's love for Vernors, but you do something different. What do you do?

00:50:18 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

You warm up the Vernors and you add Captain Morgan. It's like a hot toddy. See, I can't do hot Vernors. I like it crispy. Oh, okay. It doesn't matter. It doesn't have to be hot, just even lukewarm. Like, my Vernors is never in the fridge, ever. It stays in my basement. It's lukewarm. Add some Captain Morgan, bam. Oh, no. I want to sneeze when I drink my Vernors. I want that fizz to go right up my nose. No, if it's lukewarm in the basement, it'll still fizz up your nose, trust me. Every time the sneeze happens to me, too. Okay, okay.

00:50:55 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to try that this weekend. That's going to be our drink this weekend. We're going to do Werner's and Captain Morgan's.

00:50:59 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 2:

It's a great fall drink, too.

00:51:01 - 00:51:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that does sound pretty good. Uh-huh. Hey, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Alex, what's going on? I like these ones now. Now we're getting alcohol into this thing. What's going on, Alex?

00:51:11 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I come from a Mexican side of the family, so my grandma used to make us drink, I'd say around 13, 14 years old. It started, probably frowned upon, but she would mix up a shot of tequila with honey in it. Oh. It probably helped us sleep. it probably helped us sleep in and knock whatever we had out of us. God love her. It definitely works.

00:51:31 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 4:

Man, mi abuelo is making me drink some tequila.

00:51:37 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. That or she would put, we would boil water and then we would put Vicks in it and then we would put a towel over our head and breathe in it.

00:51:47 - 00:51:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, that's really good for you, by the way.

00:51:48 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. Yeah. Shout out to Grandma's first name. Linda. Linda. Wait, that doesn't sound very Mexican. That doesn't sound... I thought it was going to be like Maria or something like that. No. Linda. It's Linda. All right, thank you. What's up, Cheryl?

00:52:08 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 1:

First time caller, long time caller. Hey there, Cheryl's on the phone. What's going on? My mother used to take a baby to a jar and fill it with whiskey and then melt peppermint candy and put in it. and when we got sick, she'd give us a teaspoon of that to help with congestion and everything.

00:52:27 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 4:

Man, I am loving this. We're drinking this morning. Is there a way that we can all just start right now?

00:52:31 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 5:

Where's the DoorDash?

00:52:32 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 1:

Let's have a little something. You want to have a drink? Yeah, I'd love to have a little mosa or something, yeah.

00:52:37 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 4:

Let's have a cocktail. We're going to drink for you guys this morning. We're doing it for you so that you don't be driving and drinking. We're doing it for you.

00:52:42 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 3:

Because we all feel a little under the weather, right? Exactly. Hey, good morning, Tom.

00:52:48 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 4:

Monty, this is Monty, my favorite. Anytime I need drugs, I go to my drug dealer, Monty.

00:52:53 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Monty. That's a good drug dealer name. Hey, guys, how are you? Hi.

00:52:56 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 4:

Monty, Kev's a little under the weather, okay? So he's got, what do you got, a little congestion? What do you got?

00:53:02 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, my eyes feel heavy and my throat is a little off. His throat hurts?

00:53:07 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes. A little scratchy.

00:53:08 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 5:

I haven't come by the pharmacy.

00:53:10 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 4:

All right, what do you?

00:53:12 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 5:

Is this like a legitimate pharmacy or am I coming to the back door?

00:53:17 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, it all depends on which way you go in, right? And which way you go out. Monty, what do you recommend for stuff like this? What is your...

00:53:24 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 3:

He probably needs... Is he coughing or is his ears congested or does his chest feel heavy?

00:53:29 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 5:

My ears are a little congested, yeah. I'm not coughing, though. And if I do cough, it's like a singular cough, but it's really heavy if I do it.

00:53:37 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so he needs like a decongestant for sure, but needs the antibiotic for the sore throat and a nasal spray to open up the ears.

00:53:44 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 5:

Monty, I'm not a big medicine guy, though, so I don't want to take a lot of prescriptions.

00:53:48 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 3:

You're going to be a medicine guy for the next five to seven days. I love Monty.

00:53:52 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 4:

I can't do that, Monty. Monty, I'm kind of hoping that you do some kind of like Chaldean remedy for him.

00:53:58 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 3:

Like, you know, like, come on. My mom's gone now. If my mom was here, yes.

00:54:02 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 4:

What would your mom make you guys do? Would she give you like a big old pot of doma or what?

00:54:07 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, doma. That's it. Doma and some yellow rice. Hey, now we're talking. Oh, yum.

00:54:13 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 4:

Quick question for you, Monty. This is a big one here because Monty is my guy. I met Monty through Dr. Warner, which I love both of you guys so much, and he's at the Tri-Unity Pharmacy in Southfield off of Telegraph. I understand that you are called on the J Towers in the Morning show, the official pharmacist of the J Towers show. Is there any truth to that? Did he steal you away from me?

00:54:38 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 3:

Never on the J Towers show, only on the Mojo in the Morning show. There you go. That's right. Never J Towers.

00:54:45 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 4:

I trust this guy. But you do love Jay, too, right?

00:54:48 - 00:54:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I love Jay. I love Mojo. I love all you guys.

00:54:51 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 4:

All right.

00:54:52 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 3:

I share the love.

00:54:54 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

And I saw Dan Miller yesterday, the voice of the Lions, one of your best buddies in the world.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

Yes, actually, Dan lives right down the street from me.

00:55:02 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 5:

Can you tell, Monty, this is a great story. So Dan had to call the game. You know, you ever listen to Dan? He's incredible. Dan had to call the game, and his voice was going, and you helped him, right? You gave him some kind of thing. I did.

00:55:13 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 3:

He called me up. It was a few years ago, right before Thanksgiving. The Lions were in Denver the week before, and he called me up that Monday, and he said his voice was, like, practically gone. He's like, you got something? I need to be on the air by Thanksgiving Day. I said I got you He came to the pharmacy I made him a concoction And he was By Thursday A concoction Thursday he was He was back to normal Monty sounds like

00:55:39 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 4:

00:55:40 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 3:

00:55:46 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 3:

00:55:58 - 00:56:00 | Speaker 2:

Good morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:56:01 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 5:

Shannon, with what is trending in the Dirty on the 30, Shannon, this is actually awful. It's an awful story. Awful.

00:56:07 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely disgusting story. Multiple women in the Detroit area have been receiving racist text messages telling them they have been selected to pick cotton at the nearest plantation.

00:56:22 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 1:

It was this odd, ominous feeling text message basically saying, hello you've been selected to be a slave on a plantation and you're scheduled to get picked up

00:56:33 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

on at 12 a.m on november 13th yeah so like some of the text messages one woman shared with us it said like good afternoon renee you've been chosen to pick cotton at your nearest plantation be ready at 10 a.m with all of your personal items and possessions because you will never see them again we will pick you up in a brown bus you will be checked for drugs and other substances once you make it here you will be brought to your designated area you are in group 10b so they're getting some some sort of similar message to that and detroit area women not the only ones to receive these awful tags women in dc atlanta and norfolk virginia also reporting getting similar texts and messages about a potential threat from white supremacists and kkk members as well what is

00:57:19 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 4:

what's wrong with people man black women in particular are some of the most disrespected women in the history of not only this country but the world and it's a shame that certain people are utilizing politics and utilizing this particular time in the world that we're living in to utilize this moment to express their hatred for people it's disgusting the fbi believes that this is not

00:57:43 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 5:

a sleeper cell they actually said that they wonder if this is one of those things that comes from Russia like how Russia does that or China doing something like this so they're saying that they're trying to incite craziness that's going on here they're investigating possibly that it could be obviously like a sleeper cell of potential white supremacists somewhere in the United States but it's going out to so many people in so many different areas that they're thinking to themselves the technology behind this could be as that of what is you know we've seen before where they take over

00:58:18 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 4:

companies cyber stuff so foreign or domestic it ain't right it's awful tolerated three people

00:58:24 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 2:

have been arrested and charged following the death of former one direction singer liam payne one of the accused were i don't know names or anything like that but i know this person accompanied him on a daily basis during his stay in argentina and is being charged with abandonment of a person followed by death that's the specific charge so i don't have names or what this person did or how he knew Liam or anything like that. A hotel employee and a third person are charged with supplying Liam with drugs. I know there are two escorts involved in this equation. The prosecutor's office releasing a statement saying there was nothing to indicate about any sort of third party involvement in his death. They have also ruled out self-harm in this case as well. A little bit of nostalgia here. Elwood Edwards, the iconic voice of AOL's You've Got Mail message has died. You've Got Mail. One of my favorite movies of all time, too. He died yesterday, the day before his 75th birthday. He was asked, this is an interesting part of the story, he was asked to record four lines. Welcome, You've Got Mail, files done, and goodbye. Was given only $200 for his voice work. And I mean, AOL used it for years and years and years and years and years.

00:59:36 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 5:

Do you know who came up with that You Got Mail thing?

00:59:38 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:59:38 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 5:

Bob Pittman. Really? Bob was the CEO of AOL. Bobby P. And said that we needed to have something that would differentiate us from others.

00:59:49 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:59:50 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 5:

And the idea of you got mail, which, by the way, that is what it used to sound like when you would. Yes. Bianca's like, what is that noise? That's what it sounded like, Bianca, when you would go log online. I know, Bob.

01:00:00 - 01:00:04 | Speaker 2:

B.P. got more than $200. Shout out to you, good sir. And then you'd be like, Dad, get off the phone!

01:00:04 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 4:

Because you couldn't get on if somebody was on the phone.

01:00:08 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting when you talk to people that do voice work and do different things like that. I know a guy that does commercials, and he's on a ton of commercials. I mean, he's on a lot of the movie commercials and stuff like that. And at that time, you did not get paid the money. Now I think that you get residuals.

01:00:23 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 4:

I got paid pennies when I did Grand Theft Auto.

01:00:26 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:00:26 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 4:

Truly, I think I got paid under $100. That is my favorite thing. When I'm sad, I pull up that video. I got zero. I got nothing.

01:00:34 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 2:

My buddy Dave, who's a morning DJ, was in one of the Batman movies, and he gets checks for like 45 cents that come to him.

01:00:45 - 01:00:45 | Unknown:

It's crazy.

01:00:46 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 4:

And according to... Did I do all my stories? I did. No. Yes. According to a survey of more than 1,000 shoppers, 24% of us have already started holiday shopping. He actually started last month, 98% expect to start before mid-December. Well, duh. But Gen Z and millennials are trending more toward the earlier shopping. So finishing their shopping in the early part of November, 23% of respondents plan to spend less this holiday season than they did last year. And I thought this was interesting in terms of holiday shopping events, like where to get the best deal. Amazon Prime Day has become the most popular even over Black Friday and Cyber Monday. more people bought stuff during those prime days last month than they will coming up after Thanksgiving.

01:01:34 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

Which is a scam.

01:01:36 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 4:

Isn't it? It's, I mean, for all of today's dirty, you can catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or mojoinwarning.com. On Christmas Everywhere you go

01:02:01 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. Angela, you're a winner. Congratulations. I know.

01:02:08 - 01:02:09 | Speaker 3:

Can you believe it?

01:02:09 - 01:02:10 | Speaker 2:

How are you?

01:02:10 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 3:

And guess what? Yes. I'm the one that called about the toenails yesterday.

01:02:16 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

01:02:16 - 01:02:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. The extra long toenails.

01:02:18 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Making sure.

01:02:20 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I was so sick. But do you know how I really got it besides being the 95th caller?

01:02:25 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 2:

How's that?

01:02:26 - 01:02:32 | Speaker 3:

I offered my son, my 27-year-old single son, to Lydia.

01:02:34 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

You bribed Lydia to get in? Wait a second. You have to be 95th caller. This sounds illegal.

01:02:40 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 3:

No, she was calling 95, but she's also trying to give me her son in exchange. And he's in mortgages. He's been single for a year now.

01:02:48 - 01:02:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. He is respectful. Sell him, baby.

01:02:51 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 3:

And, yeah. Tell us a little bit more.

01:02:55 - 01:02:59 | Speaker 2:

Or is he Chaldean? Because Lydia wants a Chaldean man.

01:02:59 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 3:

No, we're actually, well, you know, you can become what you want. My father was a Muslim. Okay. But we believe in all of it because we're African-American, Polish, Mexican, and white. Lydia, let's go. Okay. Come on, let's do it.

01:03:16 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 2:

I like it.

01:03:16 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You know what? This is awesome. Okay. He's at the Central University.

01:03:21 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

Where's he at? Is he right there with you? Is he right there?

01:03:24 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm at work. I'm hiding in a closet because I work at the airport, so I can't be on camera. Okay. What do you do at the airport?

01:03:30 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 2:

Don't ask her because she's going to get in trouble.

01:03:32 - 01:03:35 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to bring him to Jingle Ball. Okay.

01:03:35 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 2:

All right. So maybe we got a romance going on here. Possibly you might have a daughter-in-law. Her name might be Lydia. Tell him bring the mistletoe. Yeah. Let's see if we got ourselves a little love affair going on here right now.

01:03:50 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mama's single too.

01:03:52 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

01:03:54 - 01:03:55 | Speaker 3:

She goes, Mama's single, too.

01:03:55 - 01:04:07 | Speaker 2:

We got an engineer here named Mark McEvish. Would you like a date with him? We can set that one up. Lydia and Mark McEvish going on a double date with Angela and her son. I would pay this off. Oh, my God. Convince Mark that we got to do this.

01:04:07 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 3:

As long as Mojo's paying for it.

01:04:08 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey, now. You know what? I'll pay for that. As long as we can broadcast it, we'll make sure that it gets put up on our social media, okay?

01:04:17 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 3:

This is so awesome. All right. Thank you guys so much.

01:04:19 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 2:

You got tickets. Jingle Ball, and also you're in the running for a 2024 Kia Telluride from Summit Place. Kia, congratulations to you. By the way, if you would like to win tickets, we'll have them for you during the dirties where you can listen throughout the day to our stations for chances to win. And then remember that we're going to be giving away that night that brand new Telluride. No purchase necessary. Free entries available. See rules for details. Hold on one second. Lydia's mother-in-law. You're not a crazy mother-in-law, are you?

01:04:49 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, no. I'm the cool one. You want to go have a drink and talk about my son? Well, let's go.

01:04:54 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. I think, Lydia, you might like this. We might have found ourselves Lydia's husband.

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 1:

All right, hold on one second.

01:05:01 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm about to text him and tell him to hit the podcast to listen.

01:05:04 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right, hold on one second. Mojo in the morning, as holidays fast approach, Chelsea and I have done a little spending freeze. We're on a spending freeze right now. You know how that businesses have hiring freezes when they come into their fourth quarter? We're going on a spending freeze because we know that the holidays are coming up. so both of us have talked to each other about all right we're mutually going to not order stuff that we necessarily not necessarily need you know sometimes you go on amazon you need something and then you get like five or six other things or going to target you know or costco you don't go in there and buy like 8 000 things for some reason it always seems like costco costs a hundred dollars no matter what you get minimum when all you need is you know a couple things of water or whatever so we've kind of been on this for a little bit and then I got busted and I wanted to ask this question are there any people that have ever busted their husband or wife spending money in in buying stuff that they should not have been buying and where did you catch them doing this because everything was going good until my cover got busted and i've been secretly buying things and shopping and had it delivered to my buddy's house and chelsea busted me when the dumb ass texted me a picture of my packages sitting on his front porch and she saw and this happens to me because i have my my iMessage on my phone connected to everything yeah i have an ipad that's hanging on the wall in our kitchen that's a way for us to put on our you know calendars and stuff well and also music and stuff like we have a sonos oh yeah thing yeah so you can play music my ipad is the one connected to that so it pops up on the thing i didn't realize this yeah and all you see is my friend texting me a picture of packages and chelsea looks and goes what is that clicks on the thing and can see that i have been sending my packages over to his house so that i wouldn't get busted uh doing any uh any kind of spending that i shouldn't have been doing

01:07:21 - 01:08:02 | Speaker 3:

well that's like when wes and i had the conversation the other night about what to do with our finances like are we gonna merge stuff are we keeping separate cards what are we doing with like you know the mortgage and the house and all those sorts of things when he was like i feel like we should just have like a you know one same credit card and we can pay it off with our different accounts i was like absolutely not because i i am we had to like label ourselves we're reading this book and it kind of like walks you through like appropriate conversations to to talk about your finances and it was like label the spender in your relationship label the saver and he's like we don't even need to read this chapter we know who's who we you're the spender

01:08:02 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 1:

when you say label them just pick out who is the one or do you actually give them a name

01:08:08 - 01:08:26 | Speaker 3:

no like you're supposed to like yeah like you're supposed to oh yeah there's a spender he just he literally just sent me this morning look at this this spreadsheet called called monthly expense expenses she i am not opening that up oh my god that's scary that's a certain type of individual

01:08:26 - 01:08:53 | Speaker 1:

people who are able to live that kind of life so good about it he's so good about it do you guys do you guys have a hiding spot too for this stuff like i'm not even talking about hiding spot for your kids or you know a family member from seeing a gift that maybe you bought them but do you ever have to hide your spending of what you do like do you guys ever go to this to the store and then walk into your house and you have to throw your receipt away so that they don't see the whole

01:08:53 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 3:

long receipt that yeah see i don't even do that because so many receipts now they just like email them to you or whatever no i don't do that my tactic and he now knows that i do that is he'll be like oh i really like your like this vest today i really like your vest is that new and i'm like no it's so old i just never wear it and i'm like i just gotta use what do you do with the what do

01:09:14 - 01:09:17 | Speaker 1:

you do when you have to take a tag off of something and then you have to throw it in the

01:09:17 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 3:

garbage outside of the garage okay the outside garbage vivian what's going on we have any secret

01:09:24 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

shopping going on in that house vivian okay it's so silly you guys good morning by the way I so when like the Dubai chocolate craze was literally crazy I was addicted to going and buying it and it was like $25 a bar and my husband's like you're insane for spending $25 on chocolate so he works for a local dealership and they have like these spin cards that they get money loaded onto and I have it I didn't think he had access to it so I was going and buying a Dubai chocolate bar.

01:10:00 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 5:

every single day for four consecutive days until he was like hey um by the way all these charges are coming up i think they're charging you extra and then i had to fess up and i'm like no no don't don't call them don't call them yeah i have not had one of those yet by the way oh my gosh they're so good that's what i've heard what do they cost chuckle mania is that where you got it i like taco manias personally yeah that's what i've heard what's it what's it

01:10:27 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 2:

cost it's like twenty two dollars a bar oh my god for like a bar that you could get a hershey's bar

01:10:34 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 7:

for like no but this is supposed to be like yeah and isn't it true that they were like super cheap

01:10:40 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 5:

right before they blew up on tick tock yes people were yeah the crease got out and then all of a sudden people were charging like 25 to 30 dollars a bar i don't know what she's doing insanity

01:10:54 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 3:

Don't do it, Olivia. Don't do it, Vivian. Don't do it.

01:10:58 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I want to know how many people have to hide their gambling from their spouse. Does your spouse know, like, does your significant other know how much, you know, DraftKings or

01:11:09 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 7:

I have a phone number for you if that's.

01:11:11 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, but I wonder how many people do it. Chelsea didn't realize that I was gambling every now and again during football season. And I only did like, I put $500 in there and it's the same $500. Believe me, I'm not joking when I say this, or not lying, because most people lie. Oh, yeah, no, I'm telling you, I'm not doing it. But when she saw that I was putting money on a game a few weeks ago, it was so upset.

01:11:32 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 3:

These women can know based on how good their guy is after the game. I guarantee he's much happier when he hits. Olivia, what's up?

01:11:41 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 6:

So one night, my husband's phone was going off, going off. It was interrupting my sleep, so I grabbed it to silence it. And I noticed at the top of it that he had a bunch of notifications from his bank, and I opened it up. And in the beginning of December, he had absentmindedly spent over $400 on those online games that you just play on your phone where you can buy, like, bundle packages. And when I woke him up the next morning, I was like, so, hey, I want to go do some Christmas shopping. You got any money for it? and he just looked like a deer caught in the headlights and was like, um, actually.

01:12:23 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 2:

What games are we talking about here? Are we talking about like gambling games? Or are we talking about game games?

01:12:31 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 6:

No, just literally the games that you sit on your toilet and play. Oh, geez.

01:12:35 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 2:

And they cost a lot of money, huh?

01:12:38 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you need like booster packs when your life is run out. And considering he can sit on the toilet for like an hour, that's what I want to say.

01:12:46 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 2:

Voice Disguise B. Initial B, are you there? Hey, what's going on, guys? What's going on? We're talking about hiding your spending. What did you do?

01:12:54 - 01:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I have a direct deposit for my work set up, and $120 of that every week goes into my Cash App account. So that way my wife doesn't see it, and all the rest of her money goes into our account that we share.

01:13:06 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

01:13:07 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 1:

And then when I order packages, I have them sent to my work.

01:13:10 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's good.

01:13:11 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 1:

She doesn't like seeing that I spend things on hobbies. She doesn't agree with it.

01:13:17 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 2:

By the way, she's going to think it's worse than you just buying a package. She's going to think that you're buying like hookers or something.

01:13:22 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy.

01:13:23 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you better be careful. By the way, your voice is guys, but you know what is not voice is guys? Your blinker. She will hear this blinker and go, was that you on with Mojo in the morning? Mindy, what's going on? Hi.

01:13:37 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

01:13:37 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

Hi. What did you catch your guy doing?

01:13:39 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

um so when i go on business trips i work for a retailer as a store manager and i go on business trips yearly he buys a new logging equipment and property and tries to hide it until i find out about a month later property he buys property without asking you first oh oh yeah we've been together almost 10 years and i don't believe in getting married so it stresses him out so he's like i'm just gonna make myself feel better and i'll buy a new piece of property to build a shop

01:14:04 - 01:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. How much money are we talking about?

01:14:08 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 4:

Depending on the equipment, he spends anywhere from $50 to $80. That's a wedding. $1,000. That's a wedding. What's going on?

01:14:15 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 2:

But is he making money when he sells them?

01:14:19 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 4:

He doesn't sell anything. Oh, really? He builds buildings for his logging business.

01:14:24 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That's wild. I have no idea what a logging business is, but that sounds like the man is making money with this stuff.

01:14:31 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 4:

He sells trees. He cuts trees down.

01:14:33 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right.

01:14:34 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 4:

And we have two guys that work for us, and we own eight pieces of equipment.

01:14:39 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 2:

By the way, I got to tell you, the guys, anytime I've needed a tree removed, your guys charge so much money. No wonder why I know they're buying property. Yeah, right? It's so expensive. Alex, what was hidden?

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 5:

A motorcycle. Good morning. Good morning.

01:14:54 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Wait, he hid a motorcycle from you?

01:14:57 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, for two weeks. Oh, my God. Where was he keeping it?

01:15:02 - 01:15:04 | Speaker 2:

In the garage. I don't know.

01:15:04 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 5:

You didn't notice it?

01:15:07 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 2:

No. He woke me up from work. I work nights. He woke me up one day at 4 p.m., started it, and I go, who's that? He's like, oh, that's mine.

01:15:16 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

01:15:18 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 2:

He's at it for four weeks.

01:15:19 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's craziness. How do you hide a motorcycle? You got to go into the garage a little bit more. Kendra. Wait, hold on. This is a good one. Kendra. Yes. before i move on what what did uh you find out that your guy was hiding uh spending money

01:15:33 - 01:15:41 | Speaker 1:

so he's my ex guy now but you had made the comment about oh she might think you're spending money on hookers so i was at my bachelorette party i came back and found out he was spending

01:15:41 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 5:

his money on hookers oh my god oh yeah how did you notice this and how much money um it was at

01:15:48 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 1:

least a couple hundred when i had like noticed but i stopped looking after i saw that and was just like no i'm good um he just didn't have like money to pay for the stuff for the wedding when He should have had the money. Oh, my God.

01:15:58 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 5:

A couple hundred dollars seems like a cheap hooker.

01:16:01 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, right? That's what I was thinking. But I stopped looking after I saw a little bit and was like, nope, I'm good.

01:16:06 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 5:

What does a hooker show up on expenses as? Does it say her name or what does it say?

01:16:10 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it showed up as a cash app. And, like, the girl's name was, like, Jenny something.

01:16:14 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Oh, my God.

01:16:16 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:16:16 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 5:

That would be one of those ones where it's like, okay, what the hell was he getting for her for $200? Did you ever ask?

01:16:23 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 1:

No. I did not want to know the details of that.

01:16:26 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you just kind of left them. That's good. Good for you.

01:16:28 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 1:

Yes, thank you.

01:16:29 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, thank God you guys didn't get married. Right? Thank God. All right, we'll see you. All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. Megan accidentally bought diapers. How do you accidentally buy diapers?

01:16:42 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 4:

Well, you go to the store and you're buying feminine products and you think that you're buying feminine underwear. Is that how you would properly describe it? What's feminine underwear?

01:16:56 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 3:

I've never seen them.

01:16:57 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 4:

Like a mesh undies? Well, no.

01:17:00 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 3:

Because I loved, I stole every single one of those that I had in my labor and delivery room from Beaumont.

01:17:05 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 4:

So, well, oh, then yes. Y'all are both spoiling my topic. Wait, what do you mean? I was building up to the diaper part. I went out yesterday and I was trying to buy those like things underwear, but they made them disposable and they were next to all of like the tampons and stuff. And so I was like, I need something to sleep in. i think i want to give these a try they look just like black underwear on the package and yeah i got home and i opened up the package and essentially they were diapers i accidentally bought adult diapers oh so that's not what i'm talking about then yeah oh that's something totally different oh well then i don't know i yeah i accidentally bought adult diapers what are

01:17:43 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 5:

what uh explain to me why you need to what's the the sleeping wait what in the hell did you buy

01:17:50 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 3:

now i'm googling they were like like what's the brand i've never even realized i had that thinks undies you actually told me to get those and those are amazing but they're expensive they

01:17:59 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 4:

were always disposable period underwear oh but on the package wait i did not know that they made that right but on the package right they look like they look cute they look like the cute little black underwear that's what they look like let me see i pulled them out like just plain black that's what the package looks like some regular drugs right i opened it up and they were beige diapers tell me how this company robbed me of my money because last night i put the you i opened the package i can't return them at this point i thought they were going to be underwear i open the package i pull out a diaper and i go well i have to put it on i have to i have to do this this is something that i cannot return and i must know what this is like but and was it nice i put them on and i thought i could sleep confidently see and i took them off and i put on regular underwear and said i am not at a point in my life where i am like this is not an acceptable thing to do it i cannot sleep in a diaper i couldn't do it and i took the the brand new diaper off and i threw that bad boy away because i just can't do it could could you do me a favor will you bring one or two

01:19:09 - 01:19:43 | Speaker 5:

in i would love to see what it would be like to sleep in a diaper and then actually duty myself I would just like to not have to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom but I don't know if you're would you just do it knowing you're doing it or not knowing you're doing it and then would you not know that you didn't have the diaper on the next time that you actually had to go like could you sense yourself I mean I get why you're needing what you need but can you imagine just being a person that all of a sudden just randomly is like I'm going to sleep with a diaper on no I couldn't imagine that at all

01:19:43 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 3:

But honestly, I get why you want it. Like, that would solve a lot of issues to just have that. Wouldn't it?

01:19:50 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 4:

But I'm not. No. I don't know. I am 30. I am not sleeping in a diaper.

01:19:57 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 5:

Ryan, what's up? What do you want to say to Megan?

01:20:00 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 8:

Those are the only things that I use. They're the best. I don't care. The crazy thing is that I can even put them on with my jeans and you will never know. Here's the thing. No. Wait. So listen, my husband, I started wearing them after we had our second child. My husband does refer to them as my diaper. And I have the black ones by always. I don't have the beige ones. Mine are black. I have all my friends wearing them now, too. Really?

01:20:33 - 01:20:41 | Speaker 9:

No, I have never seen these. This package advertised them as black. Yeah, I was pissed.

01:20:41 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 8:

They got you there.

01:20:43 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 5:

Are you thinking, Ryan, are you thinking that Megan needs to embrace the diaper?

01:20:49 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 8:

Absolutely. Did you get the ones that are in the box, like in the cardboard box, or the ones that are in the pack, like the plastic? The plastic. You got to get the box. The box was double the price, babe. I'm broke. Listen, baby. You hear these kids in my car. I'm broke.

01:21:11 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Thanks for the call. What's up, Samantha? Hi.

01:21:15 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I started using them after surgery, and they are amazing. Like the last caller said, you have to buy the box, though. You cannot buy the bag.

01:21:24 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 9:

You guys, there were five pairs that came in the box. There were like 20 pairs that came in the bag And they were half the price I cannot do that

01:21:35 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 5:

That's why they ain't work You gotta use them I can't believe how many people Did you use them for the same thing Megan's needing them for? What did you Oh she hung up She didn't want to tell me Maybe it's not the same thing

01:21:49 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 3:

I say use them and be proud Because there is nothing worse than waking up in the morning And going oh god Now I have to wash my sheets And I have to throw away my pajamas. And I have to just use them.

01:22:01 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 5:

By the way, we need to bow down before these women that they've got to deal with us, Kevin. This is unbelievable. We need to, today, seriously, hug a woman or something. No, don't do that.

01:22:13 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 4:

Ask permission first.

01:22:14 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Pam? Hi.

01:22:17 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, hi. I just wanted to ask you, Mojo, after you try out your diaper, who's changing you?

01:22:24 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. Chelsea? I don't know.

01:22:28 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 3:

But these are like pull-ups, so he's a big boy.

01:22:30 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 5:

He can get them on and off himself. I can do it myself?

01:22:32 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 3:

I hope so. I was dying when you said you wanted to try a diaper.

01:22:36 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 8:

I'm like, what?

01:22:36 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 5:

Tell me, though, that you wouldn't love to go to a concert and not have to worry about leaving. Like if you went to Lollapalooza and you actually just... It would be the same kind of, though. I don't know, but I wonder, are there any people that have ever put on an adult diaper when they're at an event that they didn't want to go to wait in a long line, like a Lions game? You miss pretty much an entire quarter by going to the bathroom and waiting in line.

01:23:02 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's true. Am I wrong? No, no, no, no. Don't say it's true. I'm not wrong. No, I'm talking to Pam. Do not encourage this man. What about you, Kev? Listen.

01:23:10 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 5:

You work on the court during a game. What do you have to do when you've got to go to the bathroom really bad?

01:23:14 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 4:

I hold it until I've got a timeout or a free break.

01:23:16 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 7:

And then your bladder hurts real bad, though. Pam. Pam.

01:23:20 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 4:

No, Pam. Before you called in, you thought this man was crazy. Do not let him convince you otherwise. You have to stand there with pissy diapers or boo-boo diapers, and you're okay with that? I don't think I'd boo-boo, but I'd pee in it.

01:23:31 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 5:

I would pee. Oh, my God.

01:23:33 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 8:

Number one, not number two.

01:23:34 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. Oh, man. Yeah. Oh, my God. Why?

01:23:38 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 4:

I'm not counting. We're not doing any numbers.

01:23:40 - 01:23:49 | Speaker 5:

We're all going to dinner tomorrow night together. Bring some of those. I'm wearing them at dinner, and I'm going to sit there at the table, and you'll notice exactly who I am when I'm doing it. What's up, Erica?

01:23:49 - 01:24:01 | Speaker 1:

so Megan the tan ones are for urine for like people who are incontinent and can't like hold their bladder that's why you can't wear those like I don't even know if it would work for your period

01:24:01 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 2:

are you kidding me are you kidding me give me the tan ones because I'm at that age

01:24:09 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 8:

right right i'll pay you for it i'm so i'm even angrier erica uh addy what's up

01:24:20 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 6:

hi so i went to the errands tour in chicago last year and i saw some girl she was in a really cute outfit and also i was like wait a second i think she's wearing a diaper and me and my husband were laughing because the whole group of them they were all dressed up in these really cute adorable outfits but they were very clearly wearing diapers so they wouldn't have to go to the bathroom during the taylor swift stuff see tell me it's not that serious nothing is that serious

01:24:46 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 5:

01:28:32 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 2:

So a little story with my son Milo, who is, you know, he's the shy guy.

01:28:37 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 3:

Milo's the shy guy?

01:28:38 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. He is. Yeah, he's shy. Yeah, yeah. But he made friends with this little girl who has, like, a muscle issue in her legs. And she's, like, new to the school and isn't, like, making a lot of friends. So her mom just sent us a story About that she had to sit on the bench During recess one time And he sat with her the whole time

01:28:59 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 3:

01:31:44 - 01:31:51 | Speaker 5:

What's your favorite restaurant? What is the one restaurant that you absolutely call? Everybody's got their birthday restaurant.

01:31:51 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 3:

I really don't have a red lobster. Gabe, my son is saying red lobster.

01:31:57 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 5:

You know what? Red lobster on us. Red lobster on us. Cheddar biscuits for everybody. Here, literally, I am going to give you right now, you tell us your cash app, your whatever it is that you'd use. What do you do? Venmo?

01:32:11 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 3:

Use the cash app, but...

01:32:13 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:32:14 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 3:

01:33:08 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 5:

she wasn't listening she's out of town she's like you know what she's like okay hold on a second

01:33:17 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 4:

You've never sounded sober.

01:33:19 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 5:

Can I give Megan the biggest load of crap in the world? I'm going to duty right on her chair that she's sitting on. Because she tells Lydia to call Chelsea at a time when I'm most vulnerable.

01:33:31 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 1:

What's not fair is Lydia throwing me under the bus real quick when that happened. I was going to take the blame for it.

01:33:37 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 5:

But did you hear how amazing my wife is when she found out that we got crap down this morning? She stuck up for me. Right away. Oh, wasn't that amazing? She was like, go screw them. Screw iHeartRadio. All right, hold on one second. We got to continue. I'm not doing commercials. You know what? Forget their commercials. Top Dog Insurance is not getting played. Let's see what's trending right now. Shannon, what you got in this hour is dirty on the 30.

01:34:08 - 01:34:25 | Speaker 2:

So, Brianna, chicken fries split from Zach Bryan is getting even nastier, if that's at all possible. Now she is saying that the country superstar was emotionally abusive from the very start of their relationship. This is from yesterday's episode of her BFFs podcast.

01:34:26 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I've never listened to this podcast, but hearing all this talk about it makes me want to listen. I forget his name.

01:34:32 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Why is my brain decreasing? Anyway. Like, I'm still scared right now because I'm, like, scared of him still. My brain's rewired. Like, I'm scared to make him mad. And last week, I didn't want to talk about it because I was scared. So I was like, yeah, we can just talk about this stuff that's public. You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their their experiences away, sign what they went through away. You get to go skip off and.

01:35:00 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 2:

Sing your little f***ed songs on stage like you're a good dude. I don't want in two years to buy a f***ing house and think, oh, this is the money from the dude that destroyed me and broke me for a year. Okay, money.

01:35:12 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 7:

He offered her, allegedly, I have to say that, $12 million to keep her lips zipped about what happened during their relationship. How bad was it that he would offer $12 million? I don't know. And she's only alleging emotional abuse. There's got to be more than that. There's obviously something that he does not want to get out.

01:35:30 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 5:

And I think the easiest way to tell that is how she said everybody else had NDA. Yeah.

01:35:35 - 01:35:51 | Speaker 2:

This isn't me not signing the NDA or not taking the money because I want to get on here and expose who he is and his secrets and all that. I didn't take the money because I'm not signing away my experiences and what I went through to protect someone that hurt me. And I'm a lot stronger than a weak man.

01:35:51 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 7:

By the way, Raya Gurley's beware. He's on Raya. He's on the dating app, supposedly.

01:35:56 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 4:

What does Zach Bryan need to be on a dating app? A lot of them are.

01:36:00 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 5:

A lot of celebrities are. They hit up new cities and they find people.

01:36:04 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 4:

But they're only going to be dating. If they don't want to date a fan, they're only going to be dating a fan if they're on one of those apps.

01:36:10 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 5:

No, not necessarily. A lot of them meet each other on there, too.

01:36:13 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:36:13 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 5:

It's a better way than reaching out to your publicist or your assistant to try to make the connection.

01:36:18 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 4:

I know this just sounds weird to say this, but $12 million he's offering. Obviously, it's bad. That's a lot of money. How many people, though, will jump to Zach Bryan, though, knowing he's throwing around $12 million like that?

01:36:29 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 6:

Me? No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. No. A bad joke.

01:36:32 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 5:

President-elect Donald Trump.

01:36:33 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that alcohol has gotten to you. You have never said that in a sober mind.

01:36:36 - 01:36:42 | Speaker 5:

No, because I went money first, and then I remembered what we were talking about. I know. And then I was like, oh, no, not like that situation.

01:36:43 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you know how they say that when you're drunk, you can get truth? Yeah. The truth. Truth serum. Yeah, I need money.

01:36:50 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 5:

That's the truth.

01:36:50 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 7:

President-elect Donald Trump has tapped campaign co-chair Susie Wiles to become his White House chief of staff. This is Big Dirty because she is the first woman that has been picked for that position ever in history. She's been given the nickname Ice Maiden throughout her career, and she is widely credited as being one of the chief architects of Trump's victorious presidential campaign. I did not know this. She's the daughter of legendary NFL player and broadcaster Pat Summerall.

01:37:17 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 4:

Remember Pat Summerall and John Madden used to do the games together? And honestly, that was my first Madden game ever. Shout out to John Madden. Yeah. Was that? It's interesting that we have never had a female chief of staff ever. Like, why is that that that has never happened before? It kind of surprises me. The rumor that I've also heard, too, is I've heard that there's a lot of names that are popping up. Somebody was saying that he may choose a female Democratic governor to be in his cabinet, which who would that be? Part of me wondered, could it possibly be? Big Gretsch. Would a big Gretsch ever?

01:37:56 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:37:57 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 4:

But if he's reaching across party lines to be bipartisan, that would be interesting.

01:38:02 - 01:38:06 | Speaker 6:

He'll do it because it looks good for him to offer, but I don't think she does.

01:38:06 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 4:

But I got to tell you, it used to be a day where that was like a big deal. Like you would actually do that. I would hope that it would come back to something like that.

01:38:13 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 7:

Drake shared the cutest letter written by his seven-year-old son Adonis on social media. If you follow him on Instagram, check out his Instagram stories. The handwritten note says, thank you for giving me such a good life and a good family. I love you, Dad. And it said on the bottom, Adonis to Dad. That's very sweet. And lastly, was that a little Travis Kelsey?

01:38:37 - 01:38:48 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. I just added the song. It's such a good song. Produced by Kanye. I apologize. I got to get to the hook before you get to this next one. Travis Kelsey can wait for one second.

01:38:49 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 1:

all right go ahead uh i i think it sounded to me like a little diss toward travis kelsey

01:39:04 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 7:

in one of the jeopardy answers last night listen to this the t show in question 200

01:39:09 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 1:

are you smarter than a celebrity is hosted by this man who's maybe more famous as a boyfriend than is a three-time Super Bowl champ.

01:39:17 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 4:

Derek. Was Travis Kelsey? Correct. Oh, that's interesting.

01:39:20 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 7:

Total slam, right? Yeah, come on.

01:39:23 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 4:

I thought they were going to say, are you smarter than a celebrity is hosted by a man who's not smarter than any of the people that are on this. Game show beef. Oh, Travis.

01:39:32 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 6:

Come on. Leave him alone. He's a nice man.

01:39:34 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 4:

You ever hear him just having a regular conversation? Come on.

01:39:37 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 6:

I've heard Gronk have a regular conversation. Oh, Gronk is definitely. He's not the worst.

01:39:40 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 4:

Gronk might be the dumbest athlete that has ever been in the history of... Oh, yeah. Mike. Or, okay, he is.

I like this topic and it's funny because we do a pre-show meeting where we all discuss the topics and discuss, you know, hey, here's what is something I want to bring up on the show. And when Shannon brought this up, I was like, why the hell are we waiting so long on this one? Because I want to know the details. Adults acting like children.

01:42:12 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 3:

Adults behaving badly.

01:42:13 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Adults behaving badly. Is it me right now?

01:42:16 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 3:

No, well, no, no. I took the kids, if you follow me on Instagram, you saw this. I took the kids to see Elf, the musical at the Fox Theater in Detroit last night. and um the adults sitting in the row right behind us were horrible you got like actually ruined the experience for us and it was just funny because i expected there to be a ton of kids and you know trust me i'm not saying my kids behave perfectly at every public event we're at either but this was grown-ups like grown-ass adults who talked legit the entire time commentary about the show commenting on what was going on at school, commenting on whose husband is doing this. They were crunching on their popcorn like Mojo Juice food, making these very, very weird squeaking noises with gummy candy. I don't even know what the hell they were doing, but it was like in their mouth. One of them kept kicking Smith's seat to the point where Smith finally got up and by himself walked a few rows ahead where there was like rows of empty seats and just sat down because he couldn't take it anymore. And it was so bad. We ended up leaving at intermission. Wait. They're driving me out of my mind. What show again was this? Elf the Musical.

01:43:31 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 1:

And these are, they had no kids with them, right? I mean, I guess Elf is kind of a-

01:43:36 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

This was just adults that were sitting behind us.

01:43:38 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 1:

Because Elf is kind of like, honestly, that's our movie. That's our family Christmas movie. We love Elf.

01:43:44 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 3:

So do I.

01:43:45 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 1:

So it does appeal to an older crowd. But still, when you have kids there, you should be acting that.

01:43:49 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, family friendly, by the way. The musical is meant for kids. The musical is very much meant for kids. Is it?

01:43:54 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so it's not.

01:43:55 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:43:56 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 1:

People probably don't know that, though. It came out in 03. I could see the OGs going and be like, let's get drunk and have a good time.

01:44:01 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 3:

You're right, but it is meant for kids. But you're right. They don't know that. Yeah, but you're right.

01:44:06 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 1:

But why would you go to a show, know that you're sitting there with a bunch of kids, and you're acting like that? Like, you're talking and doing all that stuff.

01:44:15 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was so irritating. It was irritating.

01:44:19 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 1:

What did you do then as mom?

01:44:20 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 3:

We left. We actually left. Yeah, we left at intermission.

01:44:22 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 1:

So you didn't do anything like, hey, shh. No, I was, no. What are you doing? I was not going to be that person.

01:44:27 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, it was also very late by the time intermission was anyway, and it was a school night. So I was like, okay, a couple of things combined. We'll just head home.

01:44:36 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Here's my example of adults behaving badly. Do you ever see adults going through like a Kroger or a Meijer, and they are like moving stuff to different shelves, like a bunch of teenage kids? I saw this happen. I saw some, like, I'm guessing 30-somethings, maybe 20-somethings. And you can tell that they were all, like, getting a bunch of crap to go watch a game. I think it was honestly a big Michigan game.

01:45:00 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 6:

on that weekend, and they're going through the line, and they're grabbing Doritos and passing them through the aisles, like their footballs, and then they're not grabbing those and buying them. The ones that they just pretty much turned into a bunch of cracked Doritos. They're like, and I'm like, you guys are jackholes.

01:45:18 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 1:

See, now by the way, this is me and my friends sometimes. I will pull us out when we're having a good time. We are acting like idiots, and I want to hear those stories too. This was just

01:45:25 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 5:

so annoying. I mean, nothing was better than being a teenager a couple years out of high school, going to Target, riding bikes around the store, playing basketball if they had the Mets up. How was the vibe when you were younger?

01:45:38 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 4:

I'm not going to lie. Last year we were shopping for B&E families. One family got some bikes for the kids, and I definitely rode those around the store.

01:45:47 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, again. We're doing good. You can't just all of a sudden say that you can do stuff.

01:45:51 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't care.

01:45:52 - 01:45:54 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning. Hi. Hello.

01:45:55 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 2:

Hi there. I'm calling for adults behaving badly. Yeah. I used to be a waitress, and I'm not going to name the restaurant, but there was once I saw a man look both ways, grab the honey container off the table, unscrew the lid, lick across the top, screw it back on, put it back, and then walk away. No, no, no. That's bad. That's disgusting.

01:46:19 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That is gross. By the way, you've got to tell me which place this was because I'm never touching the honey. What's going on, Chris? How are you doing?

01:46:27 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm doing great. How are you guys?

01:46:29 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 6:

Good. We're talking about adults behaving badly. Shannon ran into some people at the Elf, the musical, last night that were just annoying to sit by.

01:46:37 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 1:

Bro, GG. That was you.

01:46:40 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 6:

GG.

01:46:40 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 1:

Because we were FF, so they were GG.

01:46:42 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 6:

Are those good seats? No. No, they weren't good seats? No. Oh, so it starts with the single digits and goes to the double digits.

01:46:49 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 3:

We were in Y, so. Oh, wow.

01:46:52 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:46:52 - 01:47:22 | Speaker 3:

But no, it was Wednesday night at Elf. We had the people behind us. First of all, their little boy kept saying, I have to pee in my pants. I have to pee in my pants. And the parents just told him, shut up. Just shushed him the whole time. And then later on, all of a sudden, we smelt this awful thing. And they were changing his diaper behind us. They did not go to the restroom. They just changed it in the seat. Don't you love me? So if you're sitting rosy, you don't want to sit there anymore.

01:47:22 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 6:

I was at a J. Alexander's one time where they did that in the booth behind us. I said to Chelsea, I go, wow, that doesn't smell really good. And she goes, they're changing the kid's diaper in the table seat booth right behind us.

01:47:37 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 5:

What is wrong, people? That's kind of crazy. I can see them doing it at Elf, though, to be honest. They paid all that money for them seats. You know I'm missing that show.

01:47:44 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 6:

Although, I got to tell you, they're velvet red seats. You got to be careful you don't screw up those Fox Theater seats. What's up, Brittany? How you doing? Hi.

01:47:52 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 4:

He's from Morgans. How are you?

01:47:54 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. Say that again. I screwed up.

01:47:56 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 4:

It's Brittany from White Lake. How are you? Oh, Brittany from White Lake. Hi, Brittany. What's up? Hi. So I just wanted to tell you, I went to Meyers one time, and I was like 16 years old, and I jumped in the ball pit, you know, out of Meyers, and all the balls went everywhere.

01:48:07 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you're that person. You're the adult behaving badly.

01:48:11 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, I was 16, but so. Yeah, wait a second. I didn't know they had ball pits. It's like in the bungee thing where they sell the balls. You got a clown to get in there. Correct. Yeah, I jumped in there.

01:48:21 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 6:

Brittany from White Lake. By the way, is that the one that's off of M59?

01:48:30 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Airport Road.

01:48:32 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm Coral's mom.

01:48:33 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 6:

No, I know who you are, but I'm saying I know exactly that Meijer, too.

01:48:38 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 4:

I went to the actual Meijer's off Hagerty because they still live in Commerce. Oh, yeah.

01:48:43 - 01:49:14 | Speaker 6:

I have to go to that one, too, right down the street from the radio studios here. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Joe, in the morning. Lydia just told me that we have Red Wings tickets to give away. Game is tomorrow night, right? Saturday night game? The Red Wings are taking on the Blivoli Blues. I don't know. Who are they taking on? Oh, they're taking on the Toronto Maple Leafs. Actually, it's tonight. Tonight's game.

01:49:14 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh. Wait, say Toronto Maple Leafs again.

01:49:16 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 6:

But they're playing tomorrow night, I think, too, aren't they?

01:49:18 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 5:

No, no, they're not playing tonight. The Pistons play tonight.

01:49:20 - 01:49:31 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. Okay, though. Then it's not. It says November 8th, which is tonight. I think that's the wrong date. Yeah. Let me look. DetroitRedWings.com. This is a good plug for the Red Wings.

01:49:31 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 5:

They're at the Maple Leafs tonight.

01:49:33 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Yeah, no, they're not playing the Maple Leafs. They play tomorrow against somebody good, too. Or a good one of the original six, I think. Detroit Red Wings schedule. The Detroit Red Wings will play tomorrow night against the New York Rangers. Whoa. Well, but it'll be fun to see them play the Rangers, right?

01:49:53 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 4:

Right, I was booing the Rangers.

01:49:54 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 6:

Oh, we're going to give away tickets. So we'll have tickets this hour for that. That was a good plug for the Red Wings.

01:50:00 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 3:

tickets to see the red wings at detroitredwings.com actually they don't really i i talked to yesterday i i was having a conversation with a friend who sells tickets for the detroit tigers and boy the tigers ticket sales are are great after the season that they finished up with last year or this last season and uh i said to him i go hey any chance you can uh help a brother out I said to him I'd like to go I'd like to go to a Red Wings game And he goes, dude, this is a tough ticket They're a tough ticket to get right now So we got those tickets, be listening Get your bills paid, $1,000 We'll kick that off in like five minutes from now Oh, here you go Get to watch J Towers again in our studio

01:50:45 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic

01:50:46 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 3:

You know, you didn't mention J Towers The mayor was Right next to you as well The mayor, they did a ribbon cutting, too, at the new studio. You got to see Tony Jackie. Wait to see the jacket Tony had on.

01:50:59 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

He got the ribbon.

01:51:00 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 1:

Yes, he did. We didn't know where the ribbon was for a minute, but, yeah, he's the one.

01:51:05 - 01:51:10 | Speaker 3:

They cut a ribbon at our new studios. They said that we were going to be doing a.

01:51:11 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 1:

But, Dina, if you need something to rail on Jay Ford, because I know that you do as much as I do.

01:51:17 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

In Grand Rapids, Toledo, and across the world. This is our sister station, WNIC, kicking off Christmas music today. In the brand new studios that we're moving to in downtown Detroit.

01:51:31 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 4:

In downtown Detroit.

01:51:34 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 3:

That the studio is allegedly the Mojo in the Morning studio. I'm assuming that it's not the Mojo in the Morning studio. I'm assuming it's the glass everybody studio that everybody gets to use before we get to use it.

01:51:50 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 1:

There is a little kitchenette with a gumball machine that has M&Ms in it right now. That's good. So that's fun.

01:51:56 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 4:

Do you want us to get out? Here, move this way. Can you, I don't know. I know there's going to be a little reflection problem for it, but maybe Greg can get through. But you can see this is very, it's cool. It's like all this open seating. And, you know, when we have singers come by or actors or whoever, some of the big people that come into iHeart for all of it. You know, you have Channel 955 and WJLB and Wheels and Mix. You have all these great radio stations. And now in this one building at Eastern Market, I mean, hey, listen, next time Ryan is tailgating, you get in out of the cold, use the bathroom, Ryan, and then you head back outside. I'll get the keys from you, J-Tower.

01:52:32 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Good stuff, guys. Thanks for hanging out with us this morning. Really fun. Nicely done.

01:52:37 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 4:

People are happy. Thank you, guys. Thanks for the partnership, as always. I'll see you Monday.

01:52:42 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah, you will.

01:52:43 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 4:

Good job, guys.

01:52:44 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 3:

Good job. I think it's a great song of choice, too. People get happy about that music switch. Yeah, most wonderful time of the year. I want you to rewind it so you can see Tony Jackie. Bah humbug.

01:52:55 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 2:

Our boss, Tony, or the other Tony? Our boss, Tony.

01:52:57 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, our Tony.

01:52:59 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 2:

It's very funny.

01:53:01 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 3:

I don't, honestly, I don't think that they...

01:53:03 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 4:

I'm just going to say, even in this old studio, we are having way more fun today.

01:53:06 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 3:

Believe me.

01:53:07 - 01:53:07 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:53:08 - 01:53:20 | Speaker 3:

You know why? Because we're all here. We're a family, guys. You know what this is like? This is like finding out that you're... Oh, my God. More analogies. There you go. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. This is finding out that your dad cheated on your mom.

01:53:22 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:53:22 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 3:

Now you're having to move into an apartment.

01:53:24 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 4:

We got you. We got you now. You got us? Yeah. You can hear us? All's good?

01:53:28 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Oh, where's Tony at? We got to fast forward a little bit. Okay. You know what's funny? They won't get why I'm so salty about this. like they'll say oh mojo is now this is mojo just being dramatic no this is not being to being dramatic this is something that they said hey this is yours they came to me and they talked about the charlemagne interview yeah and they and i said yeah it's historic it's a presidential election i you know what i get it it pushed us back that we weren't going to be then moving in until November the 20th and literally I was going to cancel going to my brother-in-law's charity event in New York next week for my brother-in-law who has early onset Alzheimer's and I said you know what I can't believe I was going to cancel now I'm thinking back going thank God I didn't cancel going to his charity event to be there for him who's literally doesn't even know what his name is right now yeah and i makes it makes me honestly just go i gotta stop thinking about work too much and trying to prioritize this in my life because nobody freaking prioritizes prior i can't even say it prioritizes us before we used it and it was exciting it's you know all right where am i where am i looking it's coming i mean everything that's gonna be the spot that i'll be standing in right there maybe well i like how to do it for my shop my house well let's build a studio where do you guys want to build a studio how about we do build a studio in Southfield.

01:55:00 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 1:

michigan or something this morning how did it uh all come about yeah i'm very excited to move into

01:55:06 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 2:

that studio i just want to move in yeah do you want to do you want to move in or do you want to

01:55:13 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 3:

have here look you see it to the left oh there they did they caught the ribbon hold on wait wait

01:55:18 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 4:

the decision was made we're going to move down to detroit oh my gosh that's funny

01:55:24 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 1:

who are the guys in the pink in the background i think they put up the lights oh they're the

01:55:27 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 4:

Okay, they're the best, by the way. I do have to give them a shout out because they do my lights for my house too. Pink Pro. Pink Pro Holiday Lights.

01:55:36 - 01:55:43 | Speaker 2:

Ask Pink Pro if they can put a big old sign saying Mojo got F'd in lights up there on the sign.

01:55:45 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm ready to move down there. I got to walk home from work yesterday because we were broadcasting at Ford Field and I cannot wait until I can walk home from work.

01:55:54 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 2:

How about we move down there but we move into the new Hudson's building that Dan Gilbert's building. What do you think?

01:56:00 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 4:

That would be perfection.

01:56:01 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 2:

Are the Bedrock people listening? We'll take a spot. I know why. I can't afford it, but we'll take one.

01:56:06 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 3:

I know why you feel this way, man. You done put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into this show. Made a lot of sacrifices over the course of, you know, almost 30 years in a career, and you wanted this moment.

01:56:17 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 2:

You deserved it. I wanted it for all of us. I wanted us all to be able to have this nice new studio. Remember how excited we were when we went down there and looked at it and all were picking the spots that we were going to sit. It truly, you know what it really is? We're buying a used car now. We're buying a pre-owned vehicle because we thought it was new, but now the, I keep coming up with all these analogies.

01:56:40 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Keep going.

01:56:41 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 2:

But it is, it's one of those things where it's like, come on. It's like if Chelsea's...

01:56:46 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 4:

Actually, the best one you said was somebody slept with your wife before. It is.

01:56:50 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 3:

That's honest. I swear to God. But she told you she was a virgin.

01:56:53 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But can you say with a southern accent and be like, there was a raccoon that ate a gold and crusty peanut out of the trash can.

01:57:01 - 01:57:07 | Speaker 2:

And honest, you know what it does? It puts it's it's it puts my life into perspective. So that's it really does.

01:57:07 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 3:

Wake up calls are here for a big wake up call.

01:57:09 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm saying I love you guys. And honestly, I love and I love the fact that we every morning get a chance to work together. And actually, it was said earlier. I believe it was you know Shannon that said it was hey it's more fun here I'm not gonna lie to you guys we're lit for those that don't know this we are in a building that has nothing but our

01:57:32 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 4:

studio in it there is nothing else really crazy it's like the end of the world happened but we're

01:57:37 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 2:

left it's like we were robbed in the middle of the night they took everything but this studio it feels a little dystopian around here it's it's wild I felt you ever watch the walking dead It's The Walking Dead. Okay? It's worse than after COVID when everybody didn't come into the office, you know, and the office was empty. And it's one of those things where I go, you know what, though? This radio show has never sounded better than it does right now and has never had better ratings. We bust our ass to make sure that the company, you know, does well. And I'm going to say this to you. I don't need to move into that new studio. I don't want to.

01:58:14 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 4:

I'm not going to. I'm not going there. I really, really want to.

01:58:17 - 01:58:26 | Speaker 2:

I'm staying home. I'm going to do it from my basement. I'm going to be like, you know, Howard Stern. Howard Stern does it from his basement. We're going to.

01:58:26 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 4:

Is he really?

01:58:27 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. He does it in his basement. I'm going to go. Yeah, that's what I'm going to do. And everybody's going to go there and we're going to have breakfast every morning. I love Mojo. Thank you. Kudos to Mojo. Breakfast every morning. Every morning, we're going to have Chelsea make dresses. Chelsea, can you make some pancakes? She ain't doing pancakes. Mom. 01:59:49 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm fired up Zach

01:59:51 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Zach Calm me down You bring me calm Zach What you do for us every single morning How much you work for us

02:00:00 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 4:

that's my job man all right so here's this here's a story though you were ordering door you got you think that you got robbed by a door dash delivery driver and anybody that's a delivery driver does door dash instacart whatever i want you to listen up if you're this person we're coming for you what

02:00:15 - 02:01:15 | Speaker 3:

happened yeah so yesterday i ordered chinese food with my sister right oh really love chinese food um and before the order got went through literally the dasher text me and he's like are you tipping in cash and i'm like this is weird so i didn't respond um literally about 16 minutes go by and he's like your order's taking a while i'm like no way like let's go okay he then texts me again he says the restaurant is having issues by that time the restaurant calls me and says hey your order is actually ready your dasher hasn't picked it up yet so then i'm like this guy is totally scamming me 100 yeah so i sent you guys a picture in the in the group chat okay i'm looking at it right now bro you're lying the restaurant called me and you aren't there i'm complaining to you right now so then i went to go pick up my own uh i'm a little nervous i don't know why i know it's all right you didn't do anything illegal you're okay getting people

02:01:15 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 6:

in trouble i don't know do you need a drink of that whatever that is over there oh i love you

02:01:21 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 3:

I love Give this guy his DoorDash Give him the liquor

02:01:24 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 6:

Give him the liquor

02:01:25 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 3:

Give him the liquor Yeah

02:01:26 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 4:

He wanted his Chinese food So the guy was trying to hose you He was trying to hose me Yeah He was trying to get a tip bro What'd you say Is this a common thing that I've never I door to DoorDash all the time I've never had I've had them come to my door And then they come to my door Standing there for a while Looking like they want you To give them money Right Yeah

02:01:43 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 5:

It was the cash tip thing Is that kind of been like Yeah of course My man's would've brought it Yeah What if I'm like

02:01:50 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean Yeah, I have $5 in cash. Like, would you rather have – I don't know. It was just very weird, and I'm wondering if anyone has ever experienced this because I want to know, like, how it works.

02:01:59 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 4:

Where are my DoorDash drivers at? 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number.

02:02:08 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 5:

Hey, where are the white women at?

02:02:09 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 4:

No, where are the DoorDash people at? Will you call us? 844-MOJO-LIVE. So this is the part that I think is so sketchy. I would as soon as I say are you tipping cash he already gets his tip in there he knows what his percentage tip is don't they or am I wrong do they not see that there's a tip already on there

02:02:30 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 6:

they have to because when I give a big tip somebody gets it right away and if I give a normal tip it takes like 40 minutes for them to assign a driver

02:02:37 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 3:

yeah

02:02:38 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 6:

really yes I thought you couldn't tell what the tip was

02:02:41 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

until after it's delivered

02:02:43 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 6:

until after it gets delivered and then they know yeah I don't know but call us

02:02:46 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 4:

Tanya, the DoorDash driver, is on with us. Hi, Tanya.

02:02:50 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi there. How are you?

02:02:51 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 4:

Good. Tanya, why did Zach get scammed like this?

02:02:55 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 2:

Because people are greedy and just fools, ignorant. I mean, we have the choice to pick the order if we want to, if it's worth our time and money. And if you don't want it, then just don't pick it. I see people harassing DoorDashes all the time, or DoorDashes harassing people. It's hilarious. I don't know why they're doing that. You can get kicked off the job and never get back in. I mean, it's just ridiculous. People steal food all the time. It's really, really bad and everything else.

02:03:25 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 4:

What's worse? Let me ask this to everybody. What would you rather? The DoorDash driver ate some of your french fries or ate some of your food or that they held you hostage for more cash tip? Don't touch my food.

02:03:39 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 2:

I'd rather some jerk, you know, eat my food. But, you know.

02:03:44 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 4:

At least you got your food, right? Zach didn't even get his food. He didn't even get his dim sum or whatever. I had to pick it up myself, damn it.

02:03:52 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'd drop it off and call it a day so I can keep moving. Just like a waiter or a waitress, they need that table to flip. You know what?

02:03:59 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 4:

You're a good American. Real quick, I've got to ask you a question.

02:04:01 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 2:

I try my best.

02:04:02 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 4:

Zach, I want to know, what did you order? I love Chinese. Sesame chicken.

02:04:08 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 5:

Classy. You can get some shrimp fried rice or vegetable fried. What? You can get shrimp fried rice or vegetable fried. You only do chicken fried.

02:04:15 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for the call.

02:04:23 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she said, say it like that. No, that was not us doing that. What's going on, Bree?

02:04:29 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning.

02:04:30 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:04:32 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

I am a DoorDash driver. I'm an Uber Eats driver, and I'm an Uber driver. So I get comments like this all the time. I would never personally do this, and I've only ordered from Uber Eats twice for a Chinese and I had to come to the door, and I tipped them, but DoorDash drivers, there's like, you know, you have groups on Facebook, and DoorDash drivers, they all have groups, and they always comment, and they always complain about, oh, this person didn't tip.

02:05:00 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 4:

near. That's too far. DoorDash drivers are really picky and they really want the tips. Because even on DoorDash you have it where the customer can pay you cash instead of doing it on the app. And people really prefer

02:05:14 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 3:

that. That's a problem. Cash should be the optional thing. Because they did a great job, you can give them cash. The idea that they negotiate for that, to me, is sketchy. DoorDash should stop doing that.

02:05:27 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 4:

That was my first time experience in that. It's like, oh, it comes up, they're going to give you cash, but the trick is, once you get that cash, it deducts from all your future orders or all your future money. It's a good thing for a moment, but not really in the end.

02:05:44 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 3:

Zach should give this guy a bad rating. If you get a bad rating, do you get less DoorDash orders?

02:05:50 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 4:

It makes that person look bad, and they can't block the account. All they're going to do is investigate and block them out for 24 48 hours yeah and even with uber eat people will lie and say they didn't get their food but they did just to get their money back from uber eats and it's like i i took a picture it's right there and then meet at door if you don't meet me at the door in less than five minutes i'm gonna message you i'm leaving in here and don't let it be in the apartment building that's locked and you didn't

02:06:20 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 3:

give me the call oh that's the worst yeah that's yeah uh chris what's going on it's mojo in the morning our sweet wonderful zach didn't get his food please give man his food please go ahead

02:06:35 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 1:

or whatever your name is chris hi by the way um yeah i i the comment on the doordash is that sometimes you only you see the base fair and you only get like three dollars or something and you'll be going over 10 miles so i guess some why somewhat why someone would ask are you gonna Give me a tip if there was no tip put on there to begin with.

02:06:54 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 3:

Where was the Chinese place? How far was it away from you, Zach? How long did it take you to get there? Well, now you guys are calling out how lazy I am. It was in Northville, and I live in Novi. Oh, okay. So it was less than like three or four miles. Yeah, that's not even that far. That's not that bad. Actually, how long did it take you to get there? Less than 10 minutes to drive there? Yeah, 10 minutes. So why would this guy ask for extra tip? That's an easy ride. Maybe he lived somewhere further away.

02:07:18 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 1:

That's not your fault.

02:07:19 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 3:

I know. What do you think, Chris? You're a DoorDash guy?

02:07:22 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, sometimes you have to come out of your way to drive. So you might be living in Canton, and you've got to drive to Novi to pick up the food. And then you've got to drive a little bit further than that. Then don't accept it.

02:07:33 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 6:

And that should be on the delivery service. Yeah. Like, that's why there should be a fee for them.

02:07:39 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it definitely should be. Yeah.

02:07:41 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 3:

This, by the way... It definitely should be. I want you to know, I will never side with anybody but Zach. There's not a person on this show Zach, do me a favor Sounds sad I just wanted my food, guys I had to get in my own car To go pick up my food And then he asked for a cash tip It's our Zach, by the way, guys Celia, hello

02:08:09 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 5:

Hello

02:08:11 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 3:

Hi

02:08:12 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 5:

First off, first time, long time This is Celia. Celia on the phone. Thanks, Kev. I've been waiting for that all my life. So, yeah, no, I'm totally with Zach on this. I used to use DoorDash all the time. They actually have lost my business. I will never use it again because on more than one instance ordering from Buffalo Wild Wings, I have had my order stolen to the point where they post the photo saying it was delivered. And it was on somebody's marble countertop.

02:08:51 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 3:

Whose marble countertop? Is it the driver's marble countertop?

02:08:54 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 5:

They got marble? I'm going to guess so.

02:08:56 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 3:

They got nice countertops, huh?

02:08:59 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 5:

I guess so. Better than mine, that's for sure.

02:09:01 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 3:

They were eating good that night. By the way, that would piss me off. Has anybody ever looked at those pictures and you can see the reflection of the driver and the driver's got, like, their zipper open. That happens to me. My window in the front window, like the reflection, and you see the driver. I was like, I wanted to tell him back in the little comment thing, hey, your zipper's... Bro, you love zooming in on pictures. I do. And if you do a picture and it's a live picture, I always want to know if you're talking smack. All right, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

02:09:30 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

02:09:31 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

All right, well, listen, Zach, we love you, buddy. You deserve your Chinese food, but you got it. and now your sister's going to never do DoorDash again because she's going to say, hey, Zach, go get the food. Zach, go get your lazy ass and go get your own food. It's been a long week, guys. I don't know what the story is. I'm going to tell you that it seems like it's been eight months of a week.

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 2:

But we got a weekend coming up. Shannon, you got one last dirty report. What do you got?

02:10:06 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 4:

Starting off with not a great story, by the way. A pretty disgusting story that started locally and kind of has spread nationwide. Unfortunately, multiple women, hundreds and hundreds of women in the Detroit area.

02:10:17 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Actually, lots of men, too. Oh, it hasn't been? Okay, so I've only heard from women. When we reported this first this morning, we were getting a ton of texts from people saying that I'm a man and I've gotten these texts, too.

02:10:28 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I did not see that. So my apologies, but people are getting these very racist and harmful text messages telling them that they have been selected to pick cotton at the nearest plantation.

02:10:41 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 1:

It was this odd, ominous feeling text message basically saying, hello, you've been selected to be a slave on a plantation and you're scheduled to get picked up on at 12 a.m. on November 13th.

02:10:55 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the text will say something like, be ready at 12 a.m. with all of your personal items and possessions because you will never see them again. We will pick you up in a brown bus. You will be checked for drugs and other substances. Once you make it here, you will be brought to your designated area. You are in group 10B or whatever. Women in D.C., Atlanta, Virginia getting similar texts and also messages about a potential threat from white supremacists and KKK members as well.

02:11:24 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 2:

FBI, by the way, making a comment this morning saying that they have a full team that is right now on this to figure out who it is, and we will figure out who it is, and we will get them to the fullest extent of the law.

02:11:36 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 3:

Because this is a hate crime, correct? 100%.

02:11:38 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 2:

They are actually calling it terrorism.

02:11:39 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Good.

02:11:40 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 4:

It is terrorism.

02:11:42 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:11:42 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 4:

Lamar Odom is being slammed this morning in case you see his name trending because he ordered a customized sex doll that looks just like his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian the former NBA star married to Khloe from 2009 to 2016 they were in a relationship at least between those years and their relationship was rocked by his infidelity substance abuse well now Lamar has commissioned a life-sized sex doll with Khloe's features her figure it is weird and super creepy he bought the toy from real doll so that means he dropped at the minimum eight grand at the maximum $20,000, though he's said to have gotten a discount because he's a celebrity. A little bit of nostalgia here for you. If you were ever on AOL way back in the olden days, as my kids say, you probably remember hearing this.

02:12:37 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 3:

You've got mail.

02:12:38 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, the guy who voiced that audio message, Elwood Edwards, has died. He died this week, the day before his 75th birthday. And fun fact, he was commissioned to record four lines. Welcome, you've got mail, file's done, and goodbye. And in exchange, he pocketed just $200 for his work.

02:12:59 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 2:

But got a free AOL account. He didn't have to pay the $30 a month.

02:13:03 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 4:

You were still paying that like two years ago. Listen, I'm going to tell you something.

02:13:07 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 2:

I still got an AOL account. It's where all my junk mail goes to. I never opened it up. Although occasionally, I have to go to it because my password update got sent to it for my Facebook. Oh, really? Yes. So occasionally it happens. I'm not going to lie to you guys. I know it sounds weird to say this, but AOL was my favorite. I used to love Gmail, but I feel like Gmail right now has become AOL. I don't know what it is. What do you guys use? I use Gmail.

02:13:35 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 4:

You do? Yeah. I have a few different Gmail accounts. Remember when Gmail was

02:13:39 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

like really, really, really good?

02:13:41 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. See, I still like it. I feel like

02:13:43 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 2:

it's, I don't know. I feel like they... Do you pay for all the extra like i get extra storage because i i save so much email because you know what you got to have a paper trail for same crazy stuff i tell you what drives me nuts though about gmail

02:13:55 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 3:

getting ads you can't remove i know that really bothers me and lastly if you need a guy head to

02:14:04 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 4:

your local home depot tiktok creator caitlin ansari found the perfect solution to her messy dating life when she went shopping for a man at Home Depot. And true story, she found love in the hardware aisle. She went up to a stranger who's kind of cute and just asked him if she could help him or if he could help her excuse me, find the things that she needed. He let her down an aisle. They picked out some hooks and some wire, whatever it was that she needed. And the video was titled, Get Off the Dating Apps, Got Off the Dating Apps to Find Me a Blue Collar Man at Home Depot.

02:17:27 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 2:

02:17:32 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 1:

Trey Young, yeah.

02:17:33 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and then the Lions are prime time, or national television. They're the big game on CBS this week.

02:17:49 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 1:

Sunday night, I think, actually.

02:17:51 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 2:

Or is it Sunday night? Yeah. Oh, that's good. Sunday night, NBC against the Houston Texans. which that will be a game. That's a good team.

02:17:59 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 3:

And we're all hanging out tomorrow night. It's just the show, just for fun.

02:18:03 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Can you call us up and tell us, is there a good place to karaoke, a good spot? We should look at that. Or just see if there's anything out there, aside from that, that we could do as a show and go hang out. Could you imagine if somebody calls up and says, well, I'm having a bunch of people over at my house and we just house partied? That would be kind of fun. Do you remember at all when the radio station used to run Open House Party with John Garabedian?

02:18:26 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:18:27 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

That would be us. We'll be open house partying at your house.

02:18:30 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine doing that now?

02:18:32 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Yes.

02:18:33 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:18:34 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

But you would definitely have to have, like, the legal department. The problem is the legal department probably wouldn't let us do it. So they would have an issue with that. All right. Mojo in the morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. I want to ask this question. I met a listener of ours that told me that, and I don't know if I should say what it was that they said. You guys tell me if you think, because I told you guys off the air. They told me that they were on the show with us this week, and they said something that was not real flattering of their significant other. And when they told us this on the air, they thought that their significant other would not know it was them. Now, their boyfriend slash fiance, or hopefully, heard them on the radio, and now they're actually going through a breakup because of our show. So they called our show to tell us something, and now our show got them in trouble, and their relationship is in a little bit of turmoil. and I was like hey can I call and like talk to him like I usually am pretty good at trying to talk people off the ledge a little bit of hey you know what come on you know she was just meaning it in good faith you know and all this stuff and she's like no it's not good it's not even in a point now where they

02:20:00 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 1:

She could even think that I would even come across funny or or come across as sincere. He's like really pissed. And it brought me up like thinking, I wonder how many people outside of War of the Roses, like the two that, you know, we make the phone calls with, have gotten in trouble because of the show. How has our show gotten you in trouble? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. And it could be War of the Roses. Maybe you made a comment on the air about A War of the Roses and you heard back from a person that was upset with you for making that comment or, and we as a show get in trouble all the time.

02:20:39 - 02:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh. With our friends and family and significant others.

02:20:45 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 1:

Do you know how many times I have said something about the boys or said something about Chelsea? We talked, Chelsea and I talked one time on the We Don't Podcast about this. about I cross the line and say things sometimes just thinking that, oh, you know what? We talk about everything, but there's certain things that you shouldn't talk about on the air. And I'll never forget when I came in on the air one time and talked about how Chelsea, quote unquote, wet the bed.

02:21:13 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I remember this.

02:21:15 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 1:

And she was pregnant at the time and she was really pissed off at me for saying that. She didn't wet the bed. I had said that on the air and she was like, that was the most hurtful thing ever. It was a bad situation. Yeah.

02:21:27 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 2:

I told a story about, and I don't even want to say it because the damage was already done, but I told a story about a family member having plastic surgery and they did not want that information to be made public, even though it was very, very obvious what they had done if you looked at them. But I got in a ton of trouble for that.

02:21:49 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. How has this show gotten you in trouble? 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. What do I got here? Is this Hannah?

02:22:02 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it is. Good morning, everyone. Good morning, Hannah. How are you doing?

02:22:05 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 1:

We're good. What's going on?

02:22:07 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 4:

So I remember one time you had a topic about if your friends should tell you they don't like your man. And I said no because I had an ex-best friend who did that. And I went on the radio and told you guys about it and how, like, it was a friendship breakup. and one of our mutual friends heard it, told her about it, and then she sends me a bunch of clown emojis telling me how stupid it was to go and lie on the radio when I didn't lie.

02:22:32 - 02:22:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Now you're going to be in trouble for the fact that you brought this back up again.

02:22:39 - 02:22:45 | Speaker 4:

And the funny thing is, she had to apologize like months after. Oh, she did. I didn't realize how immature it was, yeah.

02:22:46 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 1:

So did she listen to our show, or did you not know that she listened to our show?

02:22:51 - 02:22:57 | Speaker 4:

I know a friend who listens to the show, and I think they still talk. That's my theory.

02:22:58 - 02:23:03 | Speaker 1:

That bothers me when somebody else hears it and then tells them. That happens a lot.

02:23:04 - 02:23:24 | Speaker 2:

It happens so much with people that are a part of my life, and then it's like a game of telephone. And by the time they hear it, it's so wrong from what was actually said that I have to say to them, did you actually hear it? If you did not, if it was not your ears listening to it, please go back and listen to the podcast because that is not at all the context or what was said

02:23:24 - 02:23:59 | Speaker 1:

or how it was said. Chelsea used to have a friend that would constantly call her and then she wouldn't do it to try to be purposely, but it came across that way. She'd go, I can't believe he said that this morning. And Chelsea would be like, what do you say? I heard some of the show. And then they would tell her and it would be in such a different fashion that you're like, what the F? Susan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey guys, how are you? We're good. We're not good if we're not i felt bad for this person that listened to the show and was you know is a big listener and now is in trouble and i'm hopefully their relationship doesn't stop me in big trouble

02:23:59 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 5:

what did we do okay so a while ago when the joe louis arena shut down i won actual seats from you guys i came and picked them up i was married my ex-husband and i are big huge uh avid red wing fans and so i gave them to him for his collection and then when we got divorced i took them from him He's never let me live it down. He's never let me live it down.

02:24:19 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, don't blame that on us. That's all you. Yeah, that's funny. By the way, I like that. What's up, Julie?

02:24:28 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. What's up, guys?

02:24:30 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Julie?

02:24:33 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

So, you guys are talking about something fun to go do as a group, right?

02:24:37 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:24:38 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 3:

Why don't you guys host, like, a music bingo night? Now, for instance, I work with, on the side, a company called Downriver Music Bingo. They are well-known in bars. What is music bingo? Wait, this sounds so fun. What is that? It is so much fun. I've been doing it with them for about a year. They've been in business for about two years.

02:25:00 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 4:

They go to bars, they host these events, they play three rounds of music bingo where they play 35 seconds of a song in a selected category, and you just mark it like a bingo sheet. And if you win bingo, you yell bingo and win money off your bill at restaurants. Oh, wow.

02:25:16 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that's so fun. I never heard of this before. At first I thought, oh, this is going to be boring, but that sounds fun.

02:25:21 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

You're from Down River, right? Yes, yes. I host at Mally's on Tuesdays. Oh my God, that's like my dad's, yeah, that's one of my dad's favorite places. It's so much fun, right? And they do it at Malley's three nights a week.

02:25:33 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 4:

They're in Thirst Parlor in Wyandotte. They're at Drink Saloon in Brownstown. They're in all over. Like, a lot of Wyandotte bars they're at. Gizmo's, a martini bar. Oh, yeah. They are so many places, and it is so much fun. Like, it is music from all different genres. Like, my favorite, 80s hip-hop.

02:25:55 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 5:

Ah, I love it. I love that.

02:25:57 - 02:26:03 | Speaker 4:

We do 80s hair bands. We do rock and roll hits, movies.

02:26:03 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 5:

Do they do 90s and 2000s, too, or is it all old?

02:26:06 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:26:07 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 5:

All right, so here's the deal. Talk to Lydia and give Lydia more details, okay?

02:26:10 - 02:26:11 | Speaker 4:

I surely will.

02:26:12 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 5:

All right, thank you for that. What's up, Ava? Hi.

02:26:15 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how are you guys?

02:26:17 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 5:

Good. We're getting back to the topic right now, the topic of how did the show hurt your relationship or screw something up before you get you in trouble?

02:26:24 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 2:

It didn't hurt me. I'm the one that hurt somebody.

02:26:29 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 5:

What happened?

02:26:30 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 2:

And I think they deserved it at that point.

02:26:32 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Okay.

02:26:35 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 2:

Seven years ago, I called you guys. I think around seven years ago. And you had a topic about, I forgot what it was. So I went into a brand name store to buy a purse. And I was a college student at the time. And I wasn't really very well dressed. But I had the money. So the associate at that store looks at me, and she literally says, can you even afford this product?

02:27:03 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 1:

Wait, that's rude.

02:27:05 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 2:

And I told you guys the story on the show, and apparently the store manager was listening that morning, and I hadn't said the name of the mall also.

02:27:17 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:27:18 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 2:

I won't do that again.

02:27:20 - 02:27:23 | Speaker 5:

But why? Why do you care, though? They said something very rude to you.

02:27:24 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 2:

Yes, exactly. Anyways, so apparently the store manager heard it, and he went into the store, asked around who was the one that made that remark, and fired that person.

02:27:35 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. Somebody got fired because of your comment. Did you feel bad about them getting fired, or did you feel like it was their just desserts?

02:27:44 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, I felt bad because they were fired, but they deserved it.

02:27:48 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. Yes, exactly. All right. We'll see that. You're a hero, Ava. You're the Robin Hood of the Somerset collection, or whatever mall it was. I don't know what mall it was. It was Somerset. I knew it. I knew it had to be. All right. Wait, what store do I want to know? Yeah, hold on. What store was it?

02:28:07 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God.

02:28:08 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 5:

Gucci Gucci? Do I really need it? You don't work there anymore. Louis Vuitton? What was it?

02:28:13 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 2:

No, no, it's just a store.

02:28:16 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 5:

It was Coach? Where was it? What was it?

02:28:19 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 2:

It was Nordstrom.

02:28:20 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. All right. well thank you ava we love you thank you all right um all right it's mojo in the morning uh shannon is this really what i'm thinking this is gonna be it's not me though but this would be something that happened to me we talked earlier this morning about megging wearing diapers or or you know uh where did we find out that they're called they're not really diapers they're like

02:28:47 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

They're like disposable period underwear, but apparently I bought the actual.

02:28:52 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 5:

You bought diapers.

02:28:53 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 1:

You bought the incontinence ones.

02:28:54 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 5:

Now we're going to talk about down there wipes.

02:28:57 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Which are a real thing and pretty amazing, by the way. But one of my girlfriends, and I promised her I would not say her name. She, you can get the good kind from Target, by the way. So she had picked up a bunch of stuff in a Target pickup order and it included these down there wipes. Um, and she has one of those, she has four kids and she has one of those cars that is just filled with all sorts of crap all the time. Usually if I get into her car, I have to ride in the back seat because that is the only salvageable location where you can actually see seat instead of like bags and all sorts of other things. So she was at work earlier this week and her boss caught her in the parking lot as she was getting ready to leave the office. and he asked if he could get in so they could just chat for a couple of minutes before they they had to go to an appointment together and they were going to be driving separately or whatever but he wanted to get on the same page so she she's like yeah no problem like get in makes room for him in the seat pushes everything to the to the floor

02:30:00 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 3:

of the passenger seat he gets in sits down and she realizes that she has a huge box of the individually wrapped down their wipes on the passenger floor the wipes that make sure your vagina is smelling fresh were right at her boss's feet the entire time they're having a very serious conversation so she was mortified and I'm like well do you think that he even looked down there and saw them? Yes. And she said, absolutely. He's not going to say anything to her because why would you? That'd be terrible.

02:30:33 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 2:

But at least he now knows that she's fresh and clean all over.

02:30:36 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 3:

But I don't know that that's something that I would want my boss to, like Tony, we're different here. Everybody knows everything about each other. But this is not that sort of workplace. It's actually professional. So it was very strange for her.

02:30:52 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 2:

I was hanging out yesterday at DTE's world headquarters. or their headquarters downtown and I'm looking at all these people that work there and I'm realizing I could not work there unless they all have wild sides because they all were very like, and they were drinking for a charity, it was a wind down Detroit or something like that, whatever the thing it was where they're raising money for the Rhonda Walker Foundation but they all seem so nice and like not so like crazy like we are And I'm thinking to myself, if I worked here, would it get crazy? Like, would it be like one of those things? You know, like your friend, I don't know what she does, but we all know she's got clean vagina.

02:31:37 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. By the way, the good kind, because I know people are going to text or DM me, the down there wipes from Target. Vagina. Yes. Do you carry them? That's the kind that I- Do you guys have them in your house, your cars? I have them in my house. I don't have them in my car. In your car.

02:31:52 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever use-

02:31:52 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 3:

She only had them in her car, by the way, because she was- She had picked them up with her order and was bringing them home.

02:31:57 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 2:

So she doesn't like at a red light.

02:31:59 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 3:

She doesn't have them in her car. Okay. No. At a red light.

02:32:04 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 2:

Freshen up real quick. It's like, excuse me, officer, who's in the car next to her. What are you? You know what? What is it? We got our dude wives over here in the corner.

02:32:14 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, I have had to change a tampon in my car before. Have you really? Yes. It's a skill that a lot of girls have. Yes, we do.

02:32:20 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 2:

They just have to do it. You change the tampon.

02:32:22 - 02:32:26 | Speaker 3:

If it is an emergency, it's an emergency.

02:32:27 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 2:

Or do you leave your foot on the brake?

02:32:29 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 3:

I can do it while I'm driving.

02:32:30 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 2:

Really? Yeah. Oh, my God. That's talent.

02:32:34 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 3:

I mean.

02:32:35 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 2:

Flexible.

02:32:36 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Emergencies are emergencies.

02:32:37 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 2:

I always put it in park if I'm doing anything, like if I'm reaching back for something in the back of the red light, you know? I don't know. I don't trust my foot not staying on that brake. 844 Mojo Live. 844-665-6548 what is the most embarrassing thing that you had either like I don't know at work or in your car or something like that and somebody saw like that's really embarrassing for you to have just kind of like sitting there down there wipes

02:33:10 - 02:33:16 | Speaker 1:

like you said at least she was clean he knows that he hires somebody to make great decisions

02:33:16 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 3:

but you get a visual you know what I mean you get a visual

02:33:21 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 2:

We cleaned out our offices here because, you know, we're allegedly moving to used studios. Are used, lightly, gently used by every other person but us studios in Eastern Market.

02:33:37 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 3:

He is not spicy.

02:33:39 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm very, I'm so pissed off right now. I'm going into this weekend, honestly, thinking this is a bunch of bull crap. But we had to clean out our office, and we cleaned out the penis pump out of the office. Which I left it here. And honestly, the next renters or owners of this building might get themselves, buy this building at 27675 Halstead Road, and you get a penis pump with it.

02:34:06 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 1:

Drive the price in.

02:34:09 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 2:

Well, how long has that thing been here?

02:34:10 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, since I got here, I feel like, and I was going on 15 and a half years ago.

02:34:16 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 2:

I have my penis pump was there. I put it back there. I'm like, you know what?

02:34:20 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 3:

Did somebody throw it away? I think so.

02:34:22 - 02:34:28 | Speaker 2:

I bet you somebody's using it right now. Right now. Somebody's got the penis pump, and they're trying it right now.

02:34:28 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 3:

You know somebody's been eyeing that for years, going, when's my time going to be?

02:34:34 - 02:34:39 | Speaker 2:

By the way, that and the Justin Bieber picture when-

02:34:39 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we have a lot of that stuff.

02:34:40 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 2:

The poor Justin Bieber, who probably was getting taken advantage of by Diddy at the time. And the picture was crazy. Oh, no, I have a Mojo one. There's Paul. Oh, there's our heads.

02:34:51 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 1:

I think I have a Megan one. I don't know. Oh, that's Kim Kardashian. Yeah. We got a lot of stuff here. Yeah.

02:34:57 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, Bonnie? How you doing?

02:35:00 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

02:35:01 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Bonnie, it's been a day. I got a little bit of a hangover headache. What's going on?

02:35:07 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was just saying that I was one of the moms that used to plan high school banquets, and we used to have a box under the table with wine, and we would put the wine in our coffee cups during the banquets. Did you? We would kind of hide doing it. And also, just to let you know that, I saw a picture of Mojo with my niece who works at DTE. Yes. And they are very nice people. They're so nice.

02:35:36 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 4:

Which one is your niece?

02:35:37 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 1:

A young lady. Jennifer?

02:35:39 - 02:35:39 | Speaker 4:

Who's your niece?

02:35:40 - 02:35:40 | Speaker 1:

Jen Simmons?

02:35:41 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Jen. By the way, did they tell you how much money? They raised a ton of money for the Rhonda Walker Foundation.

02:35:51 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 1:

That is awesome. And that is totally her character, just to do good for everybody else. She's the nicest person.

02:35:59 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. They're really nice people. Rita and everybody that really worked their butts off for that. Colin was such a nice guy, took care of us. He's one of the best in the business. They're good people. Nice people.

02:36:13 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 2:

I love what that event was, too. That they did it for their employees, but also to raise money.

02:36:17 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 4:

So their employees come to donate back to a community, but they only pick, they only pick for this wind down Detroit, they dedicate it to charities that help women.

02:36:29 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love that so much. Shout out to DTE.

02:36:32 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to donate down their wipes.

02:36:35 - 02:36:45 | Speaker 3:

02:39:16 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 2:

Megan and KP and I got yelled at pretty bad because we wanted to get, of course we wanted to get a cute picture on the field. We got yelled at real, real bad by a security guard.

She ran after us real quick.

02:39:38 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:
