What does possibility mean to you? Um, that's a hard question.

00:00:50 - 00:00:51 | Speaker 7:

Something that you can strive for.

00:00:51 - 00:01:02 | Speaker 6:

If I'm able to do anything I set my mind to. You're confident in yourself and you believe in yourself. Stuff that you could achieve. I feel. At SIDA, at Ealing, is possible when you're more confident.

00:01:03 - 00:01:07 | Speaker 7:

Shoes are a huge part of that. They are the most important part of my style.

00:01:07 - 00:01:10 | Speaker 6:

You can, like, express yourself in the right shoes. Anything is possible.

00:01:11 - 00:01:15 | Speaker 4:

DSW. Countless shoes at brag-worthy prices. Imagine the possibilities.

00:01:15 - 00:01:27 | Speaker 5:

I have type 2 diabetes, but I manage it well. It's a little pill with a big story to tell. I take one's daily chart-ins at each day's start.

00:01:27 - 00:02:26 | Speaker 1:

And for adults with type 2 diabetes and known heart disease, Jardians can lower the risk of cardiovascular death, too. Prescription Jardians, Empagliflozin, 10 or 25 milligram tablets, are used to lower blood sugar along with diet and exercise in adults with type 2 diabetes. Jardians is not for use to lower blood sugar in people with type 1 diabetes and not for people with type 2 diabetes who have severe kidney disease. Serious side effects include increased ketones in blood or urine and infection between and around the anus and genitals. Both may be fatal. Severe allergic reactions, dehydration, urinary tract or genital yeast infections in men and women, and low blood sugar. Stop taking and tell your doctor right away if you have nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, rash, swelling, trouble breathing, or swallowing. Tell your doctor about lightheadedness, weakness, fever, pain, tenderness, redness, or swelling between the anus and genitals. You may have increased risk for lower limb loss. Call your doctor right away if you have new pain or tenderness, sores, ulcers, or infection in your legs or feet. To learn more about Jardians 10 or 25-milligram tablets, ask your doctor, visit Jardians.com, or call 1-888-968-6648.

The little girl with the big story to tell.

00:02:31 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live. Mojo.

00:02:47 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 3:

Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:03:01 - 00:03:02 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

00:03:03 - 00:03:04 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:03:05 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:03:09 - 00:03:47 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:47 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is an interesting morning, guys. It's our last Wednesday in this radio studio that we have here. Oh, my God. No, I think yes, after seeing our new studio. Yeah, we're moving. So we're moving. Our home is moving. And we are moving out of our broadcast facilities that we've been broadcasting live from since I think it's... God, it's been 2004, maybe, or something like that. I don't know. I have no idea. People always will say to me, they'll be like, how old are your kids? I'm like, I have no freaking idea. You know what I mean? I know when they're 16, because there are all these pains in the asses about wanting to get a car.

00:05:00 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 2:

driver's license so uh all right welcome to the mojo in the morning show it's nice to have you guys here with us yeah we are we are moving the studios and today is the last wednesday of this radio program coming to you from farmington hills michigan which does anybody know where farmington hills michigan is if you don't it's a fantastic town that's known for farming ton hills i don't know what do they what i have no idea like you know sometimes people will go well what is your town how do they get the name i go i have no idea that's interesting no no let

00:05:35 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 1:

me google that it's probably some guy named farmington it sounds like a last name we're

00:05:39 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 2:

moving to uh our new studios in detroit so our studios i heard is moving the radio stations the i heard detroit stations to detroit which is kind of cool which uh to be quite honest with you I think is very historic, that you will have the number one most listened to radio stations actually in the Midwest. We are not just number one radio stations in the Detroit area, but actually more people listen to our radio stations in the Midwest than any other radio stations or companies. And we're going back to the city, which is nice. We were studying up on equipment yesterday. If you guys could have only seen Shannon. So it was me and Shannon and KP and Lydia and Zach, and we were hanging out there, Megan and Kev, you guys had stuff going on. Shannon was walking up intros of songs. She was DJ Shannon Shannon.

00:06:38 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Let me tell you what that means in non-radio people terms. That means introing a song and stopping that intro before the artist actually starts singing, which I haven't done for probably 15 years. I'm not going to lie to you guys.

00:06:51 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

15 years. I'm not joking when I say this to you. If Tony heard that, she would have an air shift on the station. That's why Tony's not going to hear it. Look. Believe me.

00:06:59 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 1:

You can all hear it. Look, look. I know it's tough to recreate the magic, but can we get a little Shannon walk right now? Before the end of the show. Yeah, okay. Before the end of the show.

00:07:08 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 3:

We're all going to do it. No, no, Shannon. This is all you.

00:07:11 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 2:

No, Mojo and I talked about this.

00:07:13 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 1:

We're all going to do it with a practice.

00:07:14 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 2:

But here's the story. We were walking up song intros of songs that, quite honestly, we never played. We were doing, like, WNIC songs or, you know, whatever, you know, the station is in your market that plays Whitney Houston. Well, we were doing it, and we were doing it, like, stellarly. I mean, she was amazing. So, we'll go with that.

00:07:37 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 3:

Mojo went right back to his B96 Chicago music song.

00:07:39 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I was, like, seriously. He was really feeling it. I was rapping over C&C Music Factory. It was amazing.

00:07:43 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:

Also, an update, too, if you heard Mojo's frustration, I'll say. I was going to say bitch fest, but I'll be nice and say frustrations that were being vented last Friday about all of the Christmas decorations that had taken over our brand new studio that we haven't even started working in yet. They're gone. Gone.

00:08:02 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 2:

Thanks to Lydia. Oh, my God. They were gone. Thanks to Lydia. You should see. By the way, you know who Shannon turned into last night? Who was that? Shannon and Lydia, both of these guys, turned into Clark Griswold when he got angry about Christmas.

00:08:19 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 3:

The Jelly of the Month Club. Where do you think you're going?

00:08:23 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 4:

Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're going to press on, and we're going to have the half, half, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap dance with Danny Finke. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney night, he's going to find the jolliest bunch of holes this side of the nuthouse.

00:08:45 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to know something crazy? Yeah. I have always turned that movie off. I've never seen it. Are you serious?

00:08:51 - 00:08:51 | Unknown:

Well.

00:08:52 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 2:

Not good. You're lost. Not good.

00:08:55 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 3:

The only National Lampoon movie that is good in that series is Vegas Vacation.

00:09:01 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you can't. First off, you can't watch Vegas Vacation without watching this one. This one's the creme de la creme of the bunch.

00:09:08 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

I've always turned it off.

00:09:09 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 2:

It's like watching a Rocky movie without watching Rocky 1. You don't get the premise.

00:09:14 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 3:

No, that's a terrible example. Rocky 4 is a standalone fantastic film.

00:09:18 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 2:

Or Star Wars without watching Star Wars. You can't go down to the next generation without the generation. But with that said, to go back to what we were talking about, I've never seen Lydia and Shannon throw a Christmas tree so freaking far. It was Christmas tree throwing. That might be a contest, by the way. Oh, my gosh, Lydia. That might be. Throw a Christmas tree.

00:09:39 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

Do you think it's crazy that we had to clean up a mess we didn't make?

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, we always seem to leave messes for people. So I don't know. It's kind of like back at you. So, no, I don't know. You know who the happiest person was in the entire thing? Tony the Tiger. Tony Beers, our engineer. He was so happy because he said he kept leaving our studio going.

00:10:00 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 4:

back to his home and looking at himself in the mirror, brushing his teeth, and he would see glitter all over him like he had been at a strip club all day.

00:10:07 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 5:

The glitter's really bad for the equipment. At what point are we not going to have glitter in there? We're going to destroy the studio way worse than glitter.

00:10:16 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 4:

Actually, no, it'll be coffee or spilled water or something. Who's going to

00:10:19 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 5:

make the first spill?

00:10:21 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 4:

It was almost kind of like... Of course you say me.

00:10:26 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 5:

You always have a beverage or

00:10:28 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 4:

honey in front of you. There might be a draft

00:10:29 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

kings over under on that somewhere. To be fair, I've only seen Mojo spill coffee. That is true.

00:10:34 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 4:

I'll probably leave. I have no counter space on my side with all the equipment and stuff that we got with these instant replay machines, these 360 machines and our laptops and stuff. So I might not even have to, I'll have to have an IV hooked up to me with coffee. But Shannon looked like the Grinch that stole Christmas, but I understand that that's not the person in her house. That's

00:10:52 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 6:

the Grinch that stole Christmas. Okay. You guys came to my house on Saturday night. So you are very well aware that I am in the process of already decorating for Christmas. The entire outside of my house is covered in Christmas lights, which makes this topic even more interesting because when Wes and I were dating, even after we got engaged, he had this rule that didn't bother me because we didn't live together. So I did not have to abide by it in my home. Well, now that we're living together, he thinks that this rule should be in place. And the rule is absolutely no Christmas music before Thanksgiving. What? Well, guess what? No. That's not happening because the kids and I love listening to Christmas music. But truly, it happened last night. Samantha and I, my stepdaughter Samantha, she's a sophomore in high school, were listening to Christmas music. He comes in, turns it off, and just leaves the room and goes back to what he was doing. He refuses Christmas music. Wow. We got up to Thanksgiving. And then he's on board? On Thanksgiving, we can start playing Christmas music. I go, Wesley, you could see our house from outer space at this point. There are so many Christmas lights.

00:12:03 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 4:

It is, by the way, well lit.

00:12:05 - 00:12:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and I'm starting to put out all of our holiday decorations. So what's the damn difference if this song's playing in the background?

00:12:15 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 4:

Are there any listeners that are like Wes that think that Christmas can't be celebrated this early and that Christmas music is too early? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 or others that think I saw a thing this morning that says when should you put your Christmas tree up there was some latest poll that says for this year December 1st is the actual date because the way December 1st

00:12:39 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 6:

throws. So last year I put mine up a little early and we went and chopped down a real tree and that thing was dead

00:12:47 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 7:

Christmas morning the kids would like pull a gift out and all the needles would just fall

00:12:51 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 4:

all over the floor. Now it's just a fire hazard

00:12:53 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 5:

I feel like there are extenuating, is that the right word? Circumstances? Yeah, that's actually good. Okay, you like how I mumbled my way through that because I was not confident at all? I think weather plays a role in this. And I think the first is just like, that's the last day that you can, or the first day you can do it, whatever. Wow, it has been a great morning for me talking wise. I'm so glad to be paid to do this for a living. But if the weather is cold like it is today, I feel like you get to start early.

00:13:21 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 6:

I'm with you with, yeah. I'm already very much in the spirit. I lit a Christmas candle when I was getting ready for work this morning. I am in that mindset.

00:13:28 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 5:

Right. If it snows or if it's cold, you can push that to an earlier date. That's what I meant to say.

00:13:33 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 6:

Or if you just need a little happiness. Right.

00:13:35 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Brandy. What's up?

00:13:37 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I just wanted to say that I agree with Megan. I'm a national lampoon Christmas vacation. Stop. You shut your mouth.

00:13:44 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

What about, wait, what about Christmas music? What do you think about Christmas music?

00:13:48 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, the town I live in Switches over to Christmas music on the 1st And I was a little like Oh, this is too early But now I'm jamming out to it So that's okay

00:13:59 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 4:

Are you in West Michigan right now? What's that? Are you in West Michigan?

00:14:04 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm in Kalamazoo

00:14:05 - 00:14:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so yeah Star Star is playing Christmas music right now That is really early I always feel like radio stations That switch their Christmas music Are probably hurting in the ratings And they just need a little help That's like their thing But, Allison, what's going on?

00:14:20 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

00:14:21 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

00:14:23 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 2:

So, I disagree with Wes. I think Christmas is a whole season in itself. And when you're ready to listen to Christmas music and decorate, you listen to Christmas music. Amen. Well, to defend Wes, he's not here. My house is already done. Everything is done. Christmas music is playing. The kids are excited. We're all excited.

00:14:42 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 3:

Allison, that's amazing. I got to defend Wes because he's not here. He didn't say Christmas music sucks He just said it's not the season for it Not time for it

00:14:51 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 5:

Think about it the wrong way As people with children You can use this as a threat now earlier

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh that's true My kids don't care

00:15:00 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 5:

By the way, and to also defend Wes, he is Canadian, and they don't celebrate Thanksgiving at the same time we do either, so this might be a Canadian thing. What's going on, Lindsay?

00:15:10 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my gosh, my husband is the Grinch. He always wants to wait until after Thanksgiving. It's no fun. It is no fun.

00:15:18 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 5:

You know what you need to do? Divorce him. Give him a real thing to cry about at Christmas time.

00:15:26 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 8:

All right, sign the papers or we're putting up these Christmas lights.

00:15:28 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 7:

He's going out of town next week For work for the entire week And I said wait until Just you wait until you come home It's going to look like Christmas threw up

00:15:38 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 5:

At our house John, where are you from? I'm from Dundee, Scotland Really? And you have a take on this whole Christmas thing Yeah When do you guys celebrate Christmas in Scotland? In Scotland

00:15:52 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I didn't see that son You're near Scottish Didn't make fun of Scottish I'll come over to the United States and kick me out. You want to know what's so funny, John?

00:16:03 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 8:

I don't appear to just speak English.

00:16:07 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 7:

Wes's entire family lives in Scotland minus his four siblings. And so I'm going to use this and say we had a Scottish dude call the show today and he said y'all celebrate earlier anyway.

00:16:17 - 00:16:39 | Speaker 3:

I'll tell you something, though. I'll tell you something. I've been back to Canada quite a few times. I called the Riff one time a long time ago, right? Yeah. And they were testing me. I don't know how, they're a bunch of clowns. You guys blow them away. So I don't know how, but they said this line, I don't know what it means, but if it's not Scottish, it's crap.

00:16:41 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 5:

Hey, could you do me a favor? Can you say Merry Christmas in Scottish?

00:16:46 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 3:

No, Joe. I can't believe I've died for you. You're amazing.

00:16:51 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 5:

Go ahead. What do you want me to say? Say Merry Christmas in Scottish. In Scottish.

00:16:56 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 3:

I would say, Merry Christmas, my son. Oh, I can speak that language. It's not a different language. I'm just kidding.

00:17:05 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 7:

I know, I'm just kidding. I think you just learned that. I wasn't. Okay. We have to go back in time.

00:17:12 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 6:

Where we give you a bunch of events. Can you tell us what year it happened?

00:17:15 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to do the back in the day. This was the year that radio host Don Imus was under fire for remarks he made about the Rutgers women's basketball team. Megan, you've now passed it to me.

00:17:28 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for the ball here. I'm passing it back. Girls from Rutgers, man. They got tattoos and some hardcore hoes. That's some nappy-headed hoes there. I'm going to take that down.

00:17:38 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 5:

Man, that's some... Jonah Hill starred in Superbad.

00:17:42 - 00:17:49 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever think that maybe she's just using you to get her alcohol? She doesn't want your dick. No, she's got an older brother. And she could have asked him, but she asked me.

00:17:49 - 00:17:54 | Speaker 4:

She looked me in the eyes and said, Seth, mom is making a pubic salad, and I need some Seth's own dressing.

00:17:55 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 5:

And the big song in the club.

00:17:58 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:18:01 - 00:18:14 | Speaker 6:

What year was it? Good luck. Prove what a big brain you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

It's Mojo in the Morning's back in the day. What year was this?

00:18:41 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 5:

It was the year that radio host and skeleton, and Don Imus, the guy who was like so old, he basically ruined his career by saying something very stupid on the air about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

00:18:57 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 2:

They're all some Rutgers, man. They got tattoos and some hardcore hoes. That's some nappy-headed hoes there. I'm going to take that down.

00:19:05 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 5:

Man, that's some... Super bad, which by the way, wasn't McLovin in town this past weekend? He was. He came to the Pistons game. I think he was at Motor City Comic Con. Great dude. Was he a cool guy? He was cool. Jonah Hill starred with him in Superbad.

00:19:19 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 1:

Did you ever think that maybe she's just using you to get her alcohol? She doesn't want your s***. No, she's got an older brother.

00:19:25 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 4:

And she could have asked him, but she asked me. She looked me in the eyes and said, Seth, mom is making a pubie salad, and I need some Seth's own dressing.

00:19:32 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 5:

And the big song. Brian, what year was that?

00:19:39 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 6:

2007.

00:19:40 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 5:

Brian's a winner. Congratulations. Brian, we've got tickets. You're going to go see Jim Gaffigan at the Fox Theater on November the 23rd. Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com. You don't have to worry about it. You got them for free. Congratulations.

00:19:59 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 3:

Perfect. Have a great day, buddy.

00:20:02 - 00:20:03 | Unknown:

Thanks, you too.

00:20:03 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate you for listening. We've got a lot of stuff to give away this morning. We, of course, are going to be giving away the Jingle Ball tickets. We do it every single morning. All right, we'll get you caught up on what's trending this morning in the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, good morning.

00:20:51 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Getting some details about this, the homes of both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelsey, both burglarized only hours apart a couple of weeks ago. The Cass County Sheriff's Office reported that the burglary of Mahomes Estate in Belton, Missouri was reported around midnight back on October 6th. Travis Kelsey's home in Leawood, Kansas was broken into during the early morning hours the following day. So they were hit pretty much back-to-back within hours of each other. A police report from Travis's home burglary says his back door was damaged. $20,000 in cash was taken. I don't know if anything was taken or if any damage was done to Patrick Mahomes' home. But sources say that these burglaries were likely part of the same burglary ring that has been targeting that area recently. It's interesting.

00:21:40 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 3:

They were initially saying that both were on the same day, which meant that they would have been at their game, which they had a game that night.

00:21:47 - 00:21:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:21:47 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 3:

But it wasn't. So I think people were wondering, okay, how is this happening that this would go on? But it's wild. I never thought about that with these players. When the players at the game, prime opportunity for these burglars to go in there and go rob. And we've learned from what happened in our area here. These aren't just like guys from the neighborhood. These are guys that are part of like this gang that's coming up from like I know it was Venice. Where is that group from? That was from Oakland County.

00:22:18 - 00:22:29 | Speaker 1:

They were a Chilean. Chilean. Yeah. Is that what the report is saying? This is saying they're part of a ring, but I don't know any more details about if the ring is from this country or from another country.

00:22:30 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 3:

They said that that Oakland County thing, by the way, that took place here, the Chilean gang, they believe that they're hitting again.

00:22:36 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 1:

So they are. And this time it's cars.

00:22:38 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:22:39 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 1:

They're specifically doing cars, not homes.

00:22:41 - 00:22:48 | Speaker 3:

Which is wild. Maybe homes, too, but I know cars. With all the eyes out for them and the cops kind of looking, because they caught a bunch of them.

00:22:49 - 00:23:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. Michael Strahan finally explaining the story behind his very controversial national anthem mishap. So he works as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports, if you weren't aware. And he got slammed after failing to put his hand over his heart for the anthem during a live show from the San Diego Naval Base the day before Veterans Day. He was facing calls for Fox Sports to fire him. I mean, people went nutty about this. And so yesterday, he was shouting at the paparazzi when asked by the Daily Mail specifically for a comment on the situation.

00:23:23 - 00:23:25 | Speaker 2:

Don't come to my house. Do you have any comment? What?

00:23:26 - 00:23:27 | Unknown:

Come to my house.

00:23:27 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 1:

Hours later, he expressed regret for how he behaved there and also explained why his hand wasn't over his heart. And he said he truly was just having a moment of awe toward all of the young soldiers.

00:23:38 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 2:

We had our national anthem. I didn't have my hand over my chest. Everyone thought he's protesting. He's making a statement. which is so far from the truth i have nothing to protest i have no statement to be made the only statement that should be made that i want to make is i love the military and by the time i looked up from that moment all my five guys had their hands over their hearts the national anthem playing i somewhat panic and i'm like do i be the fool that puts his hand over his heart after or do i just stand here with my hand in front of me respectfully which that's what i did that's

00:24:13 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 3:

what happened i think that there was i don't understand this controversy there's nothing with you people are finding a way it's not i am with you this is ridiculous bro i'm sick that he actually had to come out and apologize and respond to this yeah and honestly i agree with them what the hell

00:24:30 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

is a paparazzi doing going to his house very irrespectively respectfully yeah um okay martha stewart by the way have any of you watched the martha documentary it's so good i finished it last night. I saw a little clip. It's like you love her even more, but you realize she's a bitch. She's nasty. Yeah, yeah. Okay, so she was a guest on yesterday's episode of the Drew Barrymore show. That's what I saw. We all know how touchy feely Drew can be. That is just her name.

00:25:00 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 2:

Well, at one point in yesterday's appearance, Martha actually pushed Drew Barrymore away from her. What makes me soft and gooey?

00:25:08 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 6:

Soft and gooey.

00:25:10 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, soft and gooey treatment. When you're treated like a lady. She's touching her. Someone comes in and... You're the wrong gender. I know. Gives her a little push right there.

00:25:22 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 4:

You know what vibes she gives? She gives Miranda... What's the... Miranda Presley vibes.

00:25:26 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she really does.

00:25:27 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 4:

Devil Wears Prada. Like, that's the kind of vibe I get from her.

00:25:30 - 00:26:04 | Speaker 2:

It is wild to hear her talk about cheating on her husband in a way that she does not find a big deal. It wasn't cheating, Megan. It wasn't cheating. It's so wild. It was an experience. Yeah, she's crazy. And this is a local story gone national and a story that just absolutely disgusts me. A group of masked demonstrators were spotted waving Nazi flags outside of a production of The Diary of Anne Frank and Howell, as in Howell, Michigan, this past weekend. Witnesses say the group of people were heard shouting racist and anti-Semitic slurs in the parking lot of the American Legion post where the play was being held.

00:26:05 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 3:

This was the scene in Howell, Michigan near Detroit. Nazi protesters outside the American Legion, which was hosting a play, The Diary of Anne Frank, about the Holocaust. People were shocked. They were appalled. An Army veteran posting the encounter on the Legion's Facebook page, saying as he confronted the group, they shouted anti-Semitic and racial slurs.

00:26:26 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 1:

We had 75 people downstairs that watched that play. And out of that 75, there was 50 or 60 of them that were afraid to leave this building. They had to escort them to their cars. Nobody in America should feel like that.

00:26:38 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 3:

In upstate New York, another disturbing scene this week. Hundreds of wanted posters plastered across the University of Rochester, accusing certain staff members of ethnic cleansing and displacing Palestinians. The university says the faculty members were targeted because they're Jewish. It comes just days after two Jewish students at DePaul University in Chicago were physically attacked, one, a reservist in the Israeli military, police releasing images of the masked men, calling it a hate crime. The Anti-Defamation League reports a 300% increase in anti-Semitic incidents in Chicago alone over the last year. nationwide more than 10 000 anti-semitic incidents have been reported since the hamas attack on israel last october an increase of 200 so i want to go back really quick to the local part of this

00:27:28 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 2:

fowlerville community theater which was putting on the play the diary van frank that says the audience and the cast and the crew were informed of what was going on outside during intermission and the cast still managed to pull together finish the performance with just the utmost professionalism and i want to make a suggestion you can donate to fowlerville community theater just google um just as a way to you know shout them out for for how they responded to this and

00:27:55 - 00:28:05 | Speaker 5:

the uh the vets that were there that night i wouldn't mess with them i find these people out there doing this thing they should go over and beat their ass for for that that's awful for all

That time of year when we grant more Breaking and Entering Christmas wishes every year. We try to top the year prior. Now, you guys know that we did Christmas in July, so we're already off to a great start. And we've been granting wishes throughout the year. Unfortunately, there's been so many people that have been struggling, so we want to try to help out as many people as we can. go to our website that is set up just specifically for breaking in and Christmas wish it's mojo's wish.org that is mojo's wish.org all right it is the mojo in the morning show I'd like to take a moment here to talk about how you can truly tell if somebody loves you and that true test of knowing whether or somebody loves you is if they will help you move because i'm going to say this right now i've had people that will ask me to help them move and i've said so many times i'm sorry i think i'm busy this weekend have you ever said yes to anybody yes i've done it like five times shannon and i'll never do no i've done it i've done it like five times the worst was did i ever tell you the story about sean and courtney do you know who sean and courtney are no i don't know them people sean and courtney are friends of Chelsea's. Actually, Chelsea worked for Courtney. She was Chelsea's boss. Chelsea came home from working a job at the Hyatt for about a week, okay? And she says, hey, my friends Sean and Courtney need some help. Do you think you can help them? I'm thinking, good. Okay, they maybe need me to do a shout-out on the radio or something. I'm very good at shout-outs on the radio. It was, they need your help moving. Can you help them move? I don't even know Sean and Courtney this is craziness I walked to their apartment or went to their apartment I not walked I drove because I had a big car I had an SUV I drove to their apartment not knowing what they looked like or who Sean and Courtney were that shows you how good of a friend or good of a husband I am to Chelsea do you know what else I did at that move? I moved a water bed you know what a water bed do you remember people had water beds I used to want one so bad how do you move one though? They didn't even grip it. No, they were tubes full of water. We actually didn't even...

00:45:00 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 2:

drain it Megan it was crazy we carried tubes of water out that's insane it was nuts you yeah this is back in my healthier days my actually I wasn't healthier younger days I'm not even saying that that's just like that's a lot it was crazy I know so we okay so I helped them move and I know that this is the case too if you're somebody that owns like one of those KP pickup trucks that she has she's got like what a Silverado pickup if you own a pickup truck guess what you're a moving friend or at least lending your car to a I bet you you get asked a lot don't you with uh

00:45:34 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 3:

I've been asked before people know not to ask me though I'm not the mover guy I'm the fun guy I think you have to know your role in life and when you try to blur the lines that's when

00:45:46 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 2:

things go crazy yeah I I'm not I'm gonna say this to you I am not a guy that likes to help people move but you'll know exactly how good of a person is when a person will say do you need help this weekend and actually mean it like when somebody says they're moving how many moves have we done on the show i mean kp alone's done like 20 she's only she goes she moves like every six months it seems like it's amazing how many times have you in the short time since you came here and moved here moved back home from traverse city how many places have you had to move in and out this will be my fourth time in your mood wait this will be what do you mean i'm actually i

00:46:27 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 6:

couldn't find a roommate so i'm switching to a one-bedroom apartment oh my god you're moving

00:46:31 - 00:46:53 | Speaker 2:

00:46:53 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

living with dad you didn't have i was gonna say dad's house to apartment apartment to dad's house dad's house to my house my house to apartment this apartment yeah so four four times no that's

00:47:04 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 2:

crazy uh and i know cab's about to move too so you you're looking at uh at places you talked about that on the air so we're moving our studio is moving and while the company did take you know actually they didn't take anything they just said we're getting rid of everything like they've got all new stuff for us we have personal belongings that are from here and i don't know what how much is in there i've not can we do a facebook live on what our oh my god oh here it is wait i want to see look at all this stuff look at this we could go so we have we have an area where we have we have like all kinds of t-shirts and things and what we're thinking is if we could find like uh two men in a truck or something? Or two guys in a... Or two chicks in a...

00:47:50 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, do they got any hot lady movers?

00:47:52 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 2:

Do we have two chicks in a...

00:47:54 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 3:

Baddies with boxes? Oh my God, wait, that's a lot of...

00:47:56 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 2:

In a Kia?

00:47:57 - 00:47:58 | Unknown:

College hunks?

00:47:58 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 4:

Moving junk?

00:47:59 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 2:

College hunks.

00:48:00 - 00:48:07 | Speaker 5:

That's a thing. I'm going to shout out veteran junk removal because that is my cousin's business. Shout out to all the veterans that work for him.

00:48:07 - 00:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Could you call him and see if he'll do it for mentions on the radio? we need somebody that is willing to help us and what we will do is we will pay you with our undying love and we got a bunch of free liquor that's in the back of this room that we have from like a mojo in the morning party that we just recently did

00:48:24 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 5:

between Wes's truck and KP's truck you think we could get it all in?

00:48:29 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 2:

do you really want to move? do you really want to actually lift these things?

00:48:32 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 5:

I didn't say me, I said Wes

00:48:34 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

question that guy by the way is too nice no wonder why about me no wonder why the guy doesn't want to listen to christmas music anymore he he doesn't he he's got you volunteering him for all this stuff look though do we need all of this stuff

00:48:50 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 3:

or are we just like hoarding well yeah because if that's the case yeah let's have a garage sale in the back and like sell it for the low and put the money towards like breaking enter and call it

00:49:01 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 2:

like our going away party well what's what's in these what's in the district boxes they're all t-shirts is it mojo in the morning shirts or like it's all show brand oh good that's good though that with those that stuff we need to take with us right we still messaged me saying promotions can move them oh okay well now you just ruined my bit i'm trying to but you know what i got a bit

00:49:23 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 5:

going on here right now i'm trying to do it because i feel like that won't happen till

00:49:26 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 2:

i'm trying to i'm trying to to i'm trying to look for uh you know somebody that uh they want The problem is where we move them to. What's going on, Tanisha? How you doing?

00:49:35 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you?

00:49:37 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Good. Tanisha, do you have an extra spare room or do you have a basement that's empty? We're looking for a place.

00:49:42 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 1:

I do have a basement. I would definitely take the t-shirts and the free liquor.

00:49:47 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 2:

Tanisha, where are you? How close are you to us?

00:49:50 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 1:

I'm actually in Wayne, but Farmington isn't too far. My husband is Corey, the one that's doing you guys' new office. Oh, yes.

00:49:57 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 4:

You're at our Halloween party.

00:49:59 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Yes. And we got you Jingle Ball tickets, too, right?

00:50:03 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes, you did. You did.

00:50:04 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 1:

Corey, by the way, is a big strapping guy. Is he still working at the facility?

00:50:09 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 3:

He is. I'm actually going to be doing it. He is still working at the facility.

00:50:13 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 1:

So it looks great, by the way. Tell Corey, and Corey, I don't know if you're listening or a big shout out to you. We've been working in and out of there the last few days training. That place. Oh, there you are. Corey.

00:50:25 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing? Buddy. Hi, everybody. Good morning.

00:50:27 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 1:

Aside from the fact that it doesn't have enough bathroom stalls, that is going to be the best radio broadcast facility in the history of radio.

00:50:38 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

It is. It's a beautiful space. Yeah, they did a great job designing it. The furniture is top notch. You guys are really lucky. But you guys deserve that.

00:50:49 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 1:

Man, you did a great job piecing everything together. Corey, how do you like how Tanisha calls up and volunteers your services? But it's for booze.

00:50:57 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 2:

Every time I hop in the car now, she's on the phone trying to get in touch with you guys. So last time you guys asked me, does she love me more than she loves you guys? I got to start questioning that. I would, too. I would.

00:51:09 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 1:

You know what Tanisha's like? She's like Shannon. Shannon's volunteering West without even asking him yet.

00:51:14 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know, that's what happens when we get married, I guess.

00:51:16 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 1:

The guy, literally, the guy coaches like three or four of his kids' teams, and, you know, he's got a job that requires him to travel in and out of town, and Shannon's like, Yeah, Wes will do it.

00:51:29 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 2:

Listen, I know. As soon as I get off work, I got to go hang something. I got to go put something together. It's crazy.

00:51:35 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 1:

What is the deal? It goes back even to Chelsea, when she involunteered me for Sean and Courtney. Is it just the power of the vagina that we as guys are dumb enough to do all this stuff?

00:51:46 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 2:

Duh. Definitely.

00:51:48 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 1:

It's insane. You know what I call it? What? Being voluntold. Voluntold? Not volunteered. I love that you say that. Voluntold. That is actually great. That is an awesome line. That, by the way, that's got to be our new thing now for anybody who would like to be voluntold to do this. Sunshine is on. What's up, Sunshine? Sunshine?

00:52:07 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning. Good morning.

00:52:09 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's happening?

00:52:11 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 3:

I would voluntold my son to get a shameless plug for his wildlife removal, pet removal at home restoration business. Wait, hold on. He has a pickup truck.

00:52:23 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 1:

I may need that for my house. What does he do? Does he get rid of, like, squirrels in the attic or bats in the attic?

00:52:29 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 3:

Yep, squirrels, bats, raccoons, you name it. Actually, they have a couple people that they rehab, and any damage that they've done to the home, they repair it and fix it so that they cannot reenter.

00:52:45 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Wow, what's the name of the company, and how do you get a hold of them?

00:52:50 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so it's Advanced Wildlife, and I actually have to look at my phone. I can definitely get information to KP.

00:52:58 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay, yeah. Well, I was going to say, I'd let you plug it on the radio for everybody. Advanced Wildlife. You want to look at your phone? Go ahead.

00:53:06 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Oh, hold on. Oh, my God. He's going to kill me now.

00:53:09 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 1:

Why is he going to kill you? This is like a free advertising.

00:53:11 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, Mojo.

00:53:12 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 1:

Starting Monday, we got to pay rent on this new building. We're going to be jacking up the prices here.

00:53:18 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 3:

So my son's name is Anthony, and his phone number is actually 5-8-8-2-3-hundred.

00:53:30 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 1:

It's the only number.

00:53:32 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 3:

It's 9-1-2-5-4-1-1-3-7-5, and he is local.

00:53:42 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 1:

He needs a better number, like 5-8-8-2-3-hundred, or 1-800-Hansons, or something.

00:53:47 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 3:

We'll have to get it for him. We'll have to get it for him.

00:53:49 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, or 844-MOJO-LIVE. Call us up and hold on. Give Lydia that info and we'll- There you go. We love you.

00:53:57 - 00:53:57 | Speaker 3:

No problem.

00:53:58 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 1:

Sunshine.

00:53:58 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 3:

Love you too. Thank you, everybody.

00:54:00 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 1:

The guy is- By the way, has he ever had to remove a bear? I'm seeing more and more bear stories where like bears are getting in people's homes and stuff. Have you seen that at all? Where do you think we live? I saw one guy the other day that was in like- Bears here. I saw a guy with a bear in Wisconsin. We're close to Wisconsin. Okay. You don't think that bear can cross the U.P.?

00:54:23 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 3:

Wait, somebody print out an unlabeled map of the United States. I want to see Mojo try to label it.

00:54:28 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I wouldn't do well at that. But I know a bear in Wisconsin isn't going to come to Farmington Hills. You guys just got me off track here right now. No more moving. I bet you that there's somebody that has been in Michigan somewhere or Ohio and got a bear. Okay, maybe way, way, way up north, but we're talking south, metro Detroit area. You don't think that they can walk? Seriously.

00:54:51 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 3:

You see a bear just marching into Detroit.

00:54:54 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

You guys act as if these- The zoos aside. I mean, it's not like you're ever planning for the bear.

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 7:

is to come. They always end up coming just out of nowhere. I'd choose the bear. I'm telling you.

00:55:05 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 8:

I wish we had that mystical wrap.

00:55:08 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 7:

What is the mystical wrap?

00:55:09 - 00:55:10 | Speaker 8:

You ever see me find the bear?

00:55:13 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 7:

All I know is that you guys act as if wildlife can't be crazy around here. I got deer literally

00:55:21 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 8:

sitting on my front desk. That's why I'm quiet right now. After people started to tell me that now there are deer in Detroit, I don't know what animals are out here.

00:55:29 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 4:

But deer makes sense. Bear necessities

00:55:32 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 7:

on Mother Nature's recipes. Mojo in the morning, hello. Have you seen a bear? Nerds.

00:55:39 - 00:55:48 | Speaker 3:

Pardon me? Yes, I'm talking about Grand Haven. On the other side of the state of you guys, there have been bears going into houses in Muskegon, Michigan.

00:55:49 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 6:

That's great. We said

00:55:50 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 7:

Metro Detroit. No, but that's, I'm telling you, there's bears. She doesn't think that bears will walk down 96. They'll walk down 96.

00:56:02 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 3:

They're over there, too. If they're here, they're over there.

00:56:05 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 7:

I'm telling you, it's some kind of weird thing that's going on nowadays. Demetrius, what's up?

00:56:11 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 8:

It was a black bear in Muskegon last spring.

00:56:14 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 7:

I remember that story. I'm telling you. And you know where that bear is now? In Southfield somewhere.

00:56:20 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 8:

That bear is

00:56:22 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 7:

eating right now at Fish Bones. I don't know. Thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate you, Demetrius. Want to help us move?

00:56:33 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 4:

You need to make some honey just for me. When you look under the rocks and plants and take a glance at the fancy ants, then maybe try a few.

00:56:43 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 7:

By the way, you watch. We just put it out there in the atmosphere. Yes, I know. We're going to be walking into our new building in Eastern Market. A frigging bear is going to be jumping out at us.

00:56:52 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 2:

Just remember, if it's black, fight back. If it's brown, lay down. If it's white, say goodnight. That's very, very good at life.

00:57:00 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 7:

Where's all that from?

00:57:01 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 2:

Where did you learn that? It's a quote for those who hike. You won't survive a black bear. You won't survive a white bear either. Whole bear. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:57:12 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 7:

All right, Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, what's going on?

00:57:18 - 00:57:33 | Speaker 6:

We got a lot of stuff to talk about today, and we'll start with this one. And last night, Stephen Colbert announcing who is People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024. And if you listen to The Five at 6.55, we already spoiled it for you, but here you go.

00:57:33 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 1:

Without further ado, Joe, a drum roll, please. This year's People's Sexiest Man Alive is John Krasinski. Oh, disappointing.

00:57:47 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 6:

No, it's not disappointing. Disappointing. He takes the title from last year's honorary Patrick Dempsey, by the way.

00:57:53 - 00:57:55 | Speaker 8:

Who did you want, Mojo?

00:57:55 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 7:

I feel like they should have gone to...

00:57:58 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 6:

It should have been Adam Brody

00:57:59 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 7:

from Nobody Wants This. It should be one of the guys that's one of the hot new actors that's out there. Or Jelly Roll. Go on a lamb and give it to Jelly Roll.

00:58:07 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 5:

I will die on this mountain. Adam Brody.

00:58:10 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 7:

Adam Brody.

00:58:10 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 5:

He's attractive. Is he the hottest man alive? I don't know, but he's very attractive. But that is always to promote a big project. And we had a listener earlier today be like, isn't it fantastic? were about to come out. That's obviously what they're promoting.

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 8:

That's what happened last year.

00:58:24 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 5:

Yes. He had a Thanksgiving horror movie.

00:58:28 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 6:

By the way, John said his immediate reaction to this was just immediate blackout. Thought he was getting pranked. And People Magazine does, because remember yesterday we were like, Benny Blanco? I like Benny Blanco, but I just don't know that he should be on the title or given the title of Sexiest Man Alive. But they do have a reader's choice poll as well and some of the results from that sexiest, summer action star Wentz and Glenn Powell. He's pretty great looking.

00:58:52 - 00:58:53 | Speaker 7:

A not-so-great story about the late Liam Payne in The Dirty this morning. Allegedly, he sent his ex-fiance, Maya Henry, and her family a whole bunch of ex-fiance.

01:00:00 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 4:

photos of himself after they broke on. He was allegedly performing disturbing sexual acts on himself and documented it via these images. Maya claimed in a court filing that Liam also attempted to send intimate images of her to a bunch of other people. So this was a revenge porn case. The allegations also included a cease and desist that was issued by Maya and her attorneys just days before Liam's death. That's why we're finding out about this.

01:00:29 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 1:

Is this the same girl from that podcast where his inner circle was saying, if you talked about this, you better watch your back?

01:00:37 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

01:00:37 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if it is.

01:00:39 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:00:40 - 01:00:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, things are making more sense.

01:00:43 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 4:

Actor Armie Hammer's mom gave him a very interesting gift for his 38th birthday, a vasectomy. Uh-huh.

01:00:53 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 3:

So I call Armie, and I go, Armie, what would you like for your birthday this year? And he goes, oh, I don't know. You know, maybe money, whatever. And I was like, I believe I'm going to give you a vasectomy. A vasectomy? It's a fancy one.

01:01:07 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

01:01:08 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 3:

It's a fancy one. You know what he needed?

01:01:10 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 1:

Like rubbery dentures.

01:01:13 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 4:

What? So he steps. Oh, God. Yep. Sorry. I got that. Allegedly. Yep. And lastly, the National Toy Hall of Fame announced this year's inductees, My Little Pony, Transformers, and Phase 10. They were chosen from a list of finalists that also included apples to apples, balloons, choose your own adventure. Balloons are a toy. The Pokemon trading card game, the stick horse, and the trampoline. Still not in the National Toy Hall of Fame. The trampoline. Travis.

01:01:41 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 2:

Balloons. Didn't My Little Pony get in there? No.

01:01:44 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 4:

That's what I said.

01:01:44 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you did say it? Okay. This year they got in.

01:01:46 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 5:

If you've never played Keep the Balloon from Falling on the Ground, then you've never played at all.

01:01:53 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 4:

My dog Bo can play.

01:01:54 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 5:

That's a top 10 game. That should be in the Olympics. Take out breakdancing. Put in balloon battling.

01:01:59 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 4:

Keepy-uppy. That's what we call them.

01:02:00 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 5:

Keepy-uppy.

01:02:01 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 4:

Why is that sometimes the most intense game of your childhood?

01:02:05 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 2:

They just did the story on the Today Show, and you should see Al Roker playing with My Little Pony. It's something very sexy about it.

01:02:11 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 4:

01:03:31 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, hold on one second. Don't go anywhere. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning Show. Oh, I've got to turn this music down. Why is this? Is it going down? There it is. All right. This is kind of a wild one. It's Mojo in the Morning. I was talking to Aunt Pat yesterday, my sister, and she was telling me that she had to go to the hospital. Oh, no. And I was worried. And I was like, why did you not call me? Like, you know what I mean? Like, call me when stuff like this happens. Even though I don't live by her. She lives in suburban Chicago. I said, you got to, like, let me know what's going on. And then she told me how she hurt herself. And I'm going to tell you this right now. I have never heard of this before. So we're going to call her up right now. Oh, that was a staticky little phone line there.

01:04:26 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

01:04:27 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 2:

Pat?

01:04:28 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:04:29 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 2:

Hi, it's your favorite brother.

01:04:31 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Tom. Oh, thank you.

01:04:34 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I thought she was going to say Bill. Exactly. And for those who don't know, my name is Tom. So, Pat, I was just telling these guys how you injured yourself, And now she's in physical therapy, too, for this, which is amazing. I never in a million years knew that you can injure yourself. Something that I guarantee you one out of three of our listeners have already done today has required my sister to have to go to the hospital.

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 1:

What could it be? Can you guys guess what it is?

01:05:02 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 3:

Taking a shower.

01:05:04 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 1:

Is it taking a shower, Pat?

01:05:06 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:05:07 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 1:

No?

01:05:08 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Cooking. No. Oh, good wine. Or making coffee.

01:05:12 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 1:

Is it making coffee or cooking? No?

01:05:15 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:05:16 - 01:05:18 | Speaker 1:

Don't do that. It's like family view right now.

01:05:18 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 3:

Going to the bathroom? Nope.

01:05:21 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:05:22 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 3:

Not that either.

01:05:23 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 1:

No. Although that would be a hell of an injury. Crocheting. No. One in three are crocheting. Brushing your teeth. Crocheting. We're all shooting blanks here. No, but it is something to do with your mouth. Pat, do you want to tell everybody? What did you do injuring yourself?

01:05:42 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 3:

I yawned too big and I dislocated my jaw. Oh, my God.

01:05:49 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 1:

Is that craziness? Wow. Man, who was boring you?

01:05:55 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Dancing with the Stars is kind of snoozy this season. What were you watching, Aunt Pat?

01:06:00 - 01:06:22 | Speaker 3:

I actually wasn't watching. I was sleeping, and I woke up and yawned, and I heard a snap. But I also had a sinus infection at the same time, so I thought the pain I was having was just from my sinuses. But then when that went away, I had to go to the oral surgeon because it wouldn't stop hurting. It was so painful.

01:06:22 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 2:

Was your mouth, like, stuck open?

01:06:26 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 3:

What's that? was your mouth stuck open no um i i closed it but my problem is is um when i talk i don't really open my mouth that wide but if i open my mouth wide it hurts really bad in the morning in the morning it uh doesn't open i have to do these exercises wow pat's in but i hate to

01:06:51 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 1:

laugh but pat's in physical therapy while people are going to physical therapy because they got like a knee injury shoulder injury shout out to team rehab they'll do it all pat you're going

01:07:00 - 01:07:26 | Speaker 3:

you're going to physical therapy and what do they do for your mouth well there's exercises but then um then you know she said probably a lot of the a lot of the pain i have is i have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders too and you know she showed me a thing you're you're you're all muscle in your face wow so she's just she says i she says i have a lot of tension how how is it i've

01:07:26 - 01:07:39 | Speaker 1:

never in my life ever known of somebody to have an injury like this has any of our listeners ever done this thing could you imagine that you dislocate your jaw pop their jaw i've had it before where it's like i gotta like it'll click a little bit yeah depending upon what i'm doing

01:07:39 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 3:

but i've never yeah that's tmj too because when it clicks but mine doesn't click you just go

01:07:45 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 2:

straight to the dislocation i have a question pat when you originally had this injury how did you

01:07:51 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 1:

tell them that you had this injury believe me no well you know the good thing the oral surgeon

01:07:56 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 3:

said was you know a lot of doctors yell at me because i you know i'm half doctor by my dad's side and uh by web md yeah i went on the computer and i just followed the the tmj exercises and And he said that actually saved me from it getting worse.

01:08:17 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I have to be honest with you. You sound a little different when I'm talking to you. Or it could be that you're just very tired.

01:08:24 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 3:

No, I actually took a pain pill from my toe. Oh, jeez. What happened to your toe?

01:08:30 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 1:

I don't usually take pain. Don't talk about her toe. Wait, what happened to you?

01:08:33 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 3:

Wait, no, I want to know.

01:08:34 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

What happened to your toe, Pat?

01:08:35 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 3:

No, don't talk about her toe. Shush. Yeah, I had a placenta. I had two placenta graphings on my toe. What is that? Tell me more. They use a woman's placenta because they've had the sore that won't heal since May. And they're using the placenta. How do they get the placenta?

01:08:55 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 1:

Jesus. From a pregnant woman.

01:08:56 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 3:

They just got extras?

01:08:58 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 1:

From the umbilical cord, probably, right? Or no?

01:09:02 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 3:

No, women are donating their placentas for people who have... Oh, I could have done that? You could have been wearing my placenta on your toe.

01:09:11 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 1:

Pat told me yesterday on the phone And it's been hurting my toe ever since And my jaw, my jaw and my toe She's like, I may have to get my toe amputated And I'm like I don't want to I don't even want to hear it whenever I hear this thing I'm like, oh

01:09:26 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 2:

Would you keep the toe if they let you?

01:09:29 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 3:

No, but I'm going to get a tattoo Of a pig that says This little piggy isn't home Yay

01:09:35 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 1:

Yay Pat, oh my god

01:09:41 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 2:

I'll make it a necklace if you give it to me.

01:09:43 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. And Pat just lost a bunch of weight, too, by the way. So we're very, very proud of Pat. We're very, very happy.

01:09:49 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think Megan looks, but Megan was always beautiful. But I think when I look at pictures of Megan, I'm like, oh, gosh, she's so beautiful. Did you know that you're my favorite member of your.

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Christ.

01:10:01 - 01:10:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh, thanks.

01:10:03 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 6:

She loves that, too.

01:10:05 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 7:

I have a lot of peoples because I mind my own business.

01:10:08 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's right. No, you do not. That's a bunch of crap.

01:10:11 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

01:10:11 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 6:

Pat, you know why your jaw got, you know.

01:10:15 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 7:

Because I'm a liar? No, I'm a liar.

01:10:17 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 6:

No, because you talk so much, Pat.

01:10:20 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 7:

To myself because I'm by myself all the time.

01:10:23 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 6:

No, you come on.

01:10:24 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to come visit you.

01:10:25 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 6:

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Pat. Okay.

01:10:27 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 7:

Next time I'm in Chicago, can I come visit you? Absolutely.

01:10:30 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 6:

The two of you guys together, by the way, would be a nightmare.

01:10:33 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 5:

Look, let's get on Pat a massage, though, so we can relieve the tension. Because that's what caused it all.

01:10:39 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 7:

Oh, the physical therapist massages my head and my neck.

01:10:45 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 6:

Kevin. That's what Kevin wants. Kevin wants a mouth massage. It's my sister. It is my sister. I'm not going to say what I was going to say. It is. And I'm sure that Kevin was thinking the entire time that she was working at Jaws.

01:11:02 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 4:

Did you have some respect for Pat?

01:11:04 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 7:

She's injured. Did you hear what he said? I heard. Pat. I hope you guys aren't on the air.

01:11:10 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 6:

We're not on the air right now. No, no. We're going to go on the air right now. Here we go, Pat. Ready? Here we go. Hi, Pat. How you doing?

01:11:18 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 7:

I'm not telling the whole story. All right.

01:11:21 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 6:

I love you. Go back to bed. Go back to bed.

01:11:23 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 7:

I am. Thank you. Good night. Love you.

01:11:25 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 6:

oh my god what's up cole how you doing hey good morning how are you guys doing we're good what's

01:11:32 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 3:

going on buddy hey so a couple years ago i had the exact same thing happen to me i was yawning and i just hear a pop in my jaw i was awake during this time and for the next year every single time like i would go up and down they would unlock and unlock i think they called it lockjaw. I ended up going to the dentist and they told me to push my tongue back all the way in the back of my mouth and then they had two people grab the bottom of my chin and I pushed it up to the point where it went back and it fixed it and then the moment I went back to the parking lot and yawned, it unlocked again. So for like the next couple months, that was my form of therapy. They said And every time it happened, I would just have to pop it back in. Oh, my God.

01:12:20 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 6:

I can hear it when you're talking, too. That's unreal. Katie, how did you injure yourself, Katie?

01:12:26 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. All right. So a few years ago, I was pulling a slab of ribs out of, like, a chest freezer. And it slipped through my hand and landed on my foot. And I broke my foot by dropping a slab of ribs on my foot.

01:12:42 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 6:

That's insane. Oh, you got to come up with a better story.

01:12:46 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 2:

01:14:54 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

is going on with pharmacies i went yesterday to the pharmacy where there was

01:15:00 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 5:

a line of 30 people and my medication always gets denied by insurance and I have to go in person and tell them to fill it. Can't call them. Nobody picks up the phone. You have to go in person and tell them to fill it. And then I said, how long is it going to take to fill? She says 20 minutes. I go, okay. I sit down an hour and 20 minutes later. I do not get called back up to the cash register. No, I get a text and a phone call from the company saying my order is ready to pick up. I go to the cash register and say, Hey, I'd like to pick up my order. Now it's done. And she looks at me dead in the eyes and goes no it's not and literally lied to my face there was a line of 30 people behind me and the guy behind me who was like 87 years old accused me of cutting him in line and I didn't I was waiting for an hour and 20 minutes and I hate pharmacies. I agree. Wow. I agree Megan.

01:15:47 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 3:

A Megan Minute on the Mojo in the Morning show.

01:15:51 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 5:

Wow. This isn't even everything. I'm just livid. Wow. By the

01:15:55 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 3:

way it seems like all the pharmacies are going out of business. What's Maybe this is the reason why. I don't know what the story is.

01:16:02 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 5:

I asked for a note to be put in my file, and the woman goes, I don't know. I'm from another pharmacy that closed. I don't know how this works, and walked away from me.

01:16:09 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 3:

I was like, ma'am? That's why it closed. Was it a pharmacy that was the same brand or whatever? She couldn't figure that out, like how to do it?

01:16:16 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 5:

No. She had definitely moved to a new company because her company had essentially shut down. But then my favorite part was she announced my medications and then said, oh, you're the girl from the radio, right, in front of all those. That's happened to me before. And I went, hey, HIPAA.

01:16:33 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny? There's one place I do not want to be recognized is at the pharmacy. Recognize me, if you can, at a bar, a restaurant with a long wait.

01:16:44 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 4:

You know the worst thing about pharmacies right now? They all take a lunch during the most inconvenient times. They've got three people working, and all of them take a lunch at the same time. During lunch break, where most people need to pick up their prescriptions.

01:16:57 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 5:

The pharmacy techs are not allowed to be in the pharmacy if the pharmacist is not in there.

01:17:01 - 01:17:09 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. If it's already made, then why can't they just hand out the already made pharmacy or prescription to somebody?

01:17:10 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 3:

Just give it to you. It's already in the package. What's going on, Jessica?

01:17:13 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good morning.

01:17:14 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

01:17:16 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 7:

So I got a diagnosis of IBD. I don't know if anybody knows what that is. No. I have ulcers in my stomach and in my intestines, and I'm supposed to be taking this medication. is called budesonide and it's either a breathing medication or in its whole form it helps with ulcers and my insurance denied it and out of pocket it's eight hundred dollars jeez oh gosh

01:17:39 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 2:

i don't think i'm allowed to give you some but wow i have some that i'm not oh no no you can't

01:17:45 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 1:

do that i wish i could jessica you don't have to say this if um you don't feel comfortable

01:17:50 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 7:

but did hot cheetos cause your ulcers no no no no no i actually don't really eat anything spicy i never took anything with med wise i don't even like taking payment meds it's just something that

01:18:04 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 3:

is why do you why are you asking oh man that's a real thing oh really you're hurting no no this

01:18:10 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 1:

girl we call her hot cheeto girl she got hot cheetos banned from all public schools because

01:18:14 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 6:

she got ulcers really in middle school for real emily what's up hi so first time caller a long time um so i am a pharmacy technician and we it's stressful for us too i hate seeing a super long line like most of the time um our lines have like 20 people in them can't catch up but with all of the pharmacy is just closing, like a lot of like Rydids and like Walgreens are closing. We, the pharmacy that I worked at, we just gained like almost 1,500 new patients. Wow. So it is, yeah, so it cut us a little bit of slack, but we are trying, but I do know it's so stressful for patients, but.

01:19:04 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask a quick question? Somebody was telling me that our company doesn't allow it because our insurance blows her, But a lot of people say go to the mom and pop pharmacist. Like if you have one, those are the best ones to go to.

01:19:15 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 4:

Village Pharmacy, shout out to you guys.

01:19:17 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 6:

We don't really have any. I don't know of any, but.

01:19:22 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 3:

Where are you? Where are you located?

01:19:24 - 01:19:26 | Speaker 6:

I'm in Toledo, Ohio.

01:19:26 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay, yeah. Because I like.

01:19:28 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 6:

That was my issue is I can't find mom and pop.

01:19:30 - 01:19:42 | Speaker 3:

We have a Monty, our good buddy Monty at the TriUnity is a good one too. Oh, we got a Megan in a minute. We got Alex with a Megan Minute. Alex, who's your Megan Minute going to be about?

01:19:42 - 01:19:47 | Speaker 2:

My bank. They close an hour a day for lunch. Hold on, hold on. I'm already going. Are you ready to go on? Go ahead.

01:19:48 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 3:

Go, go, go.

01:19:49 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

What do you got? All right. So my bank closes an hour a day for their employees to take lunch. And it doesn't matter what I'm doing. Whenever I go to the bank for the day, which I don't go every day, but I go often.

01:20:00 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 4:

That's the hour they're closed for lunch.

01:20:03 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 1:

Wait, they don't have the same hour every single day?

01:20:07 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 4:

No. They just put a little handwritten sign on the door closed for lunch.

01:20:11 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 1:

They do that with a little sign with a clock on it and stuff? That's crazy. That's crazy. They can't switch up your lunch. You can't all of a sudden just willy-nilly in your lunch. That's nuts.

01:20:23 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 4:

And it doesn't matter what I have going on through my day. When I go to that bank, whenever I go to the bank, that seems to be the hour they're closed.

01:20:30 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 5:

How does a bank close at 5 p.m., by the way? Why do I have to take vacation time to go manage my money?

01:20:37 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. I thought you don't even carry cash with you.

01:20:39 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 5:

I don't. It's cathartic, you guys. It's cathartic.

01:20:43 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Susan's got one that we can all agree with. Susan, who's your Megan Minnett about?

01:20:49 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 2:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Good morning, Susan. Hi. I work for the USPS. I'm a rural delivery person. Okay. And I am tired of delivering Amazon's package.

01:21:03 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait, they've got postal people? Really? Hold on, this is your minute. Go ahead.

01:21:07 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. And then you got the smile on the box that we're delivering matches the smile on their band. I know Matt King from kindergarten. That box belongs in their band, not ours. We're the Eagles.

01:21:22 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 1:

We're the Eagles.

01:21:23 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 2:

That makes me so good. Keep your smiles over there.

01:21:26 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 1:

Don't mess. By the way. One more. Yeah.

01:21:29 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 2:

When we see them out, they're carrying that little three-ounce package, and they're just skipping up to the door, and we're carrying 50 pounds of dog food. What's the smile on the box? That's my complaint.

01:21:44 - 01:21:45 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

01:21:45 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 2:

Nice job. That was awesome. Susan, do you feel better? I do feel better. Yeah, that's great. So hopefully, I want to know Amazon packages today.

01:21:56 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 1:

We love you. Thank you, Susan. Matthew with the last one here. What's going on, Matthew?

01:22:02 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 3:

All right, first of all, first time, long time. Yeah, Matthew's on his phone. All right, so I hate it when I get a green light and the lane across from me has a turning arrow and they decide to cut over in front of me as I'm turning right or going straight. It's even worse when I'm in a school bus because I drive a school bus for a minute.

01:22:24 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you do? Wait, hold on. The bus driver's on with us right now. We've got postal workers, bus drivers all listening to us. And so people will do that? They'll cut you off like when you got the right of way?

01:22:34 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, when I have the right of way to go straight and their light is a blinking yellow arrow, they decide that they're going to cut off in front of me as I'm turning right or going straight through the intersection.

01:22:45 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 1:

Let me ask you a question. Have you ever wanted to let the kids out at the next light and have them go up there and pound on their window or something? You wish. Yeah, wouldn't that be great? You wish. That would be great. Well, thank you, bus driver Matthew, for being on the Mojo in the Morning Show. We appreciate it. Of course. Hey, guys.

01:23:01 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 3:

Love you all.

01:23:01 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 1:

Just like with Susan, the postal worker, do you feel better now that you got that off your chest?

01:23:06 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 3:

A little bit. I got more response now because I posted it on Facebook and I didn't get any reaction.

01:23:11 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, see that? We give you more reaction than your Facebook posts. I like it. All right.

01:23:16 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 5:

He's so angry about this. He posted on Facebook and was like, I didn't get what I needed. I didn't get all in and tell them. Let's go.

01:23:24 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo in the Morning, Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish is back. We want to help you during the holidays. Do us a favor. Go to MojosWish.org, and we would love, love, love, love to help you. MojosWish.org. I've got a lot of great people that have been helping us with Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. I was out to dinner last night with the Lashes, Ryan and Samantha Lash, and RSL Medical, good friends that have helped us with so much with Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. and Ryan was telling me that he's been hitting up all of his friends and some of his clients and some of the customers or people that he does business with to help us with breaking and entering. And we got more and more people that are stepping up. I even got a call, random call yesterday, just out of the blue, which is funny because I always give my phone number to everybody. Like I always say, even the listeners, I'm like, hey, you know what? Here, if you ever need anything, call me. It's one of those ones where it was a person that needed help for a family member for Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish back in 2018. And I look back at some of our text exchange because I'm like, this is just wild. 2018, they said that their sister was battling cancer and she was pregnant. And we might remember this one. She was pregnant and about to give birth to a baby while she's battling cancer. So she's literally trying to carry the baby to term and deal with her cancer at the same time. We granted a Christmas wish. This guy said nobody in our family could help. The guy came in to some money. He had an idea hit where he ended up selling this idea, I guess, and making a ton of money. The guy wrote us a check.

01:25:00 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 3:

for $10,000 for Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. He said, I'm giving this to you guys because you got us through a hard time and I believe that what you did for my sister saved her life and her baby's life. $10,000 just out of the blue randomly, which shows you, and this is the thing, we've been doing this Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish for such a long time. People who get wishes granted for them coming back later to return the favor and doing it for other people. Is it like, to me, the circle of life, so to speak, of this thing.

01:25:31 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 2:

That's what it's about, man.

01:25:32 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 3:

It's an amazing time. MojosWish.org. If you need help. Danielle's calling us from Grand Rapids. We love our SNX listeners. And you are a winner. Congratulations, Danielle.

01:25:48 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, thank you. I love you guys. We love you too.

01:25:54 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 3:

Congrats to you. You got a $50 cash card. You're now qualifier number three of five for a trip to Tampa, Florida.

01:26:02 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that is so awesome. I'm having the worst day ever. Whoa, stop. Stop, stop, stop. Wait, wait.

01:26:08 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 3:

Wait, stop. Tell us what's going on. What's happening?

01:26:12 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 1:

So, okay, kind of gross, but my cat peed on my last pair of work pants today. No. Bye. So, guess who gets to go buy more work pants?

01:26:24 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 2:

A pissy pussy.

01:26:25 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait, can I just say to you This might be the reason why I'm not a cat fan Although dogs do the same thing Does anyone want a cat? Yeah, really What do you do for a living? What kind of work do you do that requires work pants?

01:26:42 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 1:

So I'm in the healthcare field We deliver medical equipment to people's homes That can't get out of the home

01:26:49 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 3:

So we need some scrubs for you?

01:26:51 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

What is that company?

01:26:53 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 3:

What is it?

01:26:53 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 1:

I just wear khakis

01:26:55 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh so a pair of khakis So can we get somebody that works at Target To lend their khakis Is that what you're going to do Are you going to run into Walmart or Target And try to get some Well listen this is a good thing You got $50 to go do it So congratulations Hang on the phone for a second What is that cat's name

01:27:17 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 1:

Benny

01:27:18 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 3:

Damn you Benny You'll come home and you'll be having a rough day and Benny will snuggle up next to you to make it all nice, okay?

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 1:

Yes, that will make it better.

01:27:29 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Hang on one second. Lydia's going to get your information and hopefully Friday we're calling your name out. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Kevin, did I hear you say that you left your wallet again? I did. After yesterday us talking about your first off, super fat wallet and when I mean fat, I'm not saying it's the coolest wallet in the world. I'm saying this thing is the Biggest wallet I've ever seen. Yeah, pretty bulky.

01:27:55 - 01:28:06 | Speaker 2:

But I did. So last night, we let the record talk. But last night, we had a Pistons game. Big shout-out to the Pistons. Big win. Come on, man.

01:28:06 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 3:

Did they win?

01:28:07 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 2:

Yes, four of our last six.

01:28:09 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 3:

Hey-oh.

01:28:09 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 2:

We're doing really well. Yes. Last night was the first game of the new in-season tournament, for those who don't know what that is. Instead of just playing a whole season and then there being one champion crown at the end And to keep the competition throughout the course of a long season, we have a middle championship, so to speak. So that end-season tournament kicked off last night. We played against the Miami Heat. Kate Cunningham had an amazing night. Come on, man. Kate has been on a tear this season, and it has been incredible to watch. Overtime thriller. We won. I'd like to say that because it was a late night, that's why I left my wallet. But, you know, it's just who I am. But something incredible happened. And so yesterday, like you mentioned, we talked about the fact that I left my wallet at our new studios. And as I'm watching the game, sitting in my seat, I see this woman and a young girl start to walk. And I see her looking at me because I'm looking at her. And she's looking with intention. She's not just looking to look like she's looking like she's she has a purpose. So I jump out of my seat and go approach her before she gets to me. And I'm like, hey, how are you? She's like, I'm doing well. I'm doing well. You're doing a good job. Thank you so much. She's like, my husband Sven is up there My husband Sven, he's up there I'm like, okay, I'm not sure who Sven is Her husband's what? That's his name, Sven Oh, okay Oh, Sven Yeah, Sven is his name So I'm like, oh, I don't know She's like, he listens to the morning show And he heard you say that you don't have a wallet I have a gift for you And gave me the RFID wallet that we were talking about on air yesterday

01:29:44 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 3:

Stop it Yes Wasn't that like $150? It was The guy knew he was going to the game Heard us talking about this And he went and bought that wallet for you Bought the wallet bro That's insane

01:29:54 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 2:

You know what's crazy I've been thinking about a Birkin bag For like a long time now This is the moment.

01:30:01 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 4:

If anybody's interested, I'll be, where will I be?

01:30:04 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 2:

By the way, if you get that, could you imagine? But that's pretty cool. It was incredible. It made me think, because Megan, you've mentioned it before. I think all of you have, but most recently, Megan has mentioned, and the words that she used was like, restore my faith in humanity. And I think it was your dad who somebody recognized at a pharmacy, I want to say. Yeah, because I couldn't stay to keep waiting. But these type of moments, man, where you never know who's listening, And there are good people out there who are willing to help if they recognize that you're in need.

01:30:33 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. And by the way, if anybody's had one of those moments where somebody just came to you and helped you out, you have to call us up. But let's talk about Kevin losing his wallet constantly. You're trying to double down on this. No, I don't get this. How is it that you, like usually you lose your wallet once, you go, all right, I got to wash my wallet. What the hell's going on with you? Are you wearing new pants or what's the story?

01:30:56 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know, it's interesting. The pants that I have on today don't have pockets. That's why I got my satchel. We were talking about that yesterday as well. Oh, you did bring a satchel. But I don't know. I think the mindset was, I don't know, bro. I can make a thousand excuses right now. It's just that. I hope it's on the table at home. I don't even know where it's at for real. No pockets. Are they women's pants? Hold on. Wait, stop.

01:31:15 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 1:

You left your wallet at home today. You left your wallet in the studio the other day. And you got this new wallet from Sven. Shout out Sven. Why is Sven's wallet not in your, what are you doing? Are you not going to switch over?

01:31:28 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 2:

I had to send topics last night and do back in the day when I got home.

01:31:31 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:31:32 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 2:

And I had to finish watching Steph Curry play.

01:31:35 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:31:35 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 2:

So where's the wallet? And, and.

01:31:37 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 1:

He didn't have time to switch his wallet over. And guess what?

01:31:40 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 2:

Because I'm going to turn that frown upside down. And I'm going to move the magic away from me to something even better.

01:31:45 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:31:45 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 2:

It's Journey's first birthday. I know. I saw that. Journey is a year old. Oh, my God. So yesterday I pulled up on a television and like a screen mirrored. Yeah. And my mom is over there. Sherelle's over there. and we watched Sherelle give birth again. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. So I think that was on my mind. Did you guys videotape the actual birth? Oh, I did. Remember I had the GoPro and all of that? Like right there, right up in there. What do you see when you're watching this thing? You see Journey's head come through Sherelle's vagina. Like you got the whole shot. And when her vagina ripped and they had to stitch it up. She does not want you to share that. Hold on.

01:32:22 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 4:

She does not want you sharing. I'm not going to share it. You just did.

01:32:26 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you mean your body? Wait, your mom Your mom is watching this

01:32:31 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 2:

She almost threw up She was like, I didn't tell anybody I was going to put it on I just did it, my mom, she was eating too I brought her like a double cheeseburger She was like She's like one of those kind of people She sees something, she gets all dramatic

01:32:44 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 1:

I can't, oh my god I didn't even see my own I can show you Sherelle's No, it's okay Sherelle, I love you, but I do know You can't be showing off You can't show somebody else's that's a very private moment you're right you're right this is not uh this is not imagine theater although could you imagine paul glans giving us one of the theaters uh what's up rita how you doing and happy birthday by the way journey and uh beautiful mommy what's up that's his first time

01:33:30 - 01:33:30 | Unknown:

01:33:31 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Rita, next time you come to the game DM me so we can connect.

01:33:35 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and bring him a chain for his wallet. He doesn't need a wallet. He needs a wallet chain. He needs to be like Kid Rock. Why is it that? I will be there

01:33:43 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 3:

the 30th. So I'll be close enough to see you.

01:33:48 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 1:

Who do they play on the 30th? Sixers. Okay, that's a good game.

01:33:54 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I always, whenever I see you, hear you, you're always entertaining and you really make the, and the game yesterday was amazing. We were there. Thank you, Rita.

01:34:03 - 01:34:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes, come say what's up on the 30th.

01:34:04 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 1:

It's incredible. What's going on, Katie? Hi. Hello, Katie, are you there? Or Caleb, oh, I'm sorry. Caleb's our second date update. Sorry, Caleb, I'll come back to you in one second. Caleb needs to know why he's not getting a call back. Katie, there you are.

01:34:23 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hi. Love you guys. One time I was headed to a job interview, and a woman caught me putting my last $2 and some odd cents in my gas tank and change. And so I went out back to my pump, and the cashier came out to me and said that the woman had put $10 on my pump. And it was the reason I got home that day. It was also the reason I was able to make it to that job interview and get a job that I kept for 10 years. Oh my gosh, what a story. That's amazing. I'm still grateful to this day, 10 years later, because I had a wonderful experience.

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 3:

And it was because she saw a girl putting change on a gas pump and changed her life. Wow.

01:35:06 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

01:35:07 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 3:

That is awesome.

01:35:09 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 5:

What a positive, amazing, upbeat moment. This is incredible. Well, thank you for calling. Thanks for sharing it. Craig, what's happening?

01:35:17 - 01:35:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey. So I was calling about restoring faith in humanity. And my car broke down, and I had a tow truck come get it. I had my 11-year-old daughter with me. So we went over to the gas. We had them drop us off at the gas station near the dealership where we were getting dropped off. And I had my wife coming to get me. And I looked rough. I hadn't shaved and was wearing some crappy clothes. And I had this lady try to hand me money.

01:35:40 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 5:

So, because she saw the car break down and she saw what you were going through. Is that what you needed at that time, was money?

01:35:48 - 01:35:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, no.

01:35:48 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 5:

She thought I was homeless. Oh, she thought you were homeless. I was going to say, that's what I thought. That's what I thought. It was like, by the way, did you give the money back or did you take it?

01:35:57 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 1:

I called her. I said, I'm just waiting for my wife to come. Oh, man.

01:36:01 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 5:

Say thank you and keep it moving. We'll see a cab parked on the side of the road. Hey, man, don't turn down a blessing. What's up, Blair?

01:36:11 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So when I was trying on wedding dresses, we had noticed someone trying on bridesmaid dresses right next to us, and she had been looking at me. And I tried on a dress, and it was a little bit out of our price range because my grandma was paying for my dress, that my grandpa had passed a few years prior that had been something he always wanted to be a part of and stuff um and i'm standing there in this dress and we were talking about how i couldn't afford it and this the lady who was trying on bridesmaid dresses walked over and said you know god wanted me to come over and tell you how beautiful you looked and that this is your dress and he also wanted me to give you money towards your dress and she handed us a hundred dollar bill And so I was able to get my wedding dress, and that was also our sign that my grandpa was there with us the day that I tried on my wedding dress. That is my favorite story.

01:37:00 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 5:

That is unreal. These stories are better and better. That's so amazing.

01:37:07 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so we were all crying together.

01:37:09 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 5:

Anytime that somebody says that this world is a bad place, I want you to think of something like this segment here on the show and us talking about this and say, you know what? There are good people that are out there. That's right. Allison, what's up? Hi. Hi, Allison. Good morning. Good morning. Allison's got one for us. Allison, the entire community came together for you.

01:37:30 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 3:

They did. My daughter was recently hospitalized and had to have two emergency surgeries. And my whole community came together and made sure I had enough money for, like, hospital food or gas to get back and forth or whatever I needed while I was. So I didn't have to leave her side. Oh, wow.

01:37:51 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Wow.

01:37:52 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 3:

I love this topic so much.

01:37:54 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 5:

And how is your daughter?

01:37:56 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 3:

She's having another, she's actually in another procedure right now, but we're hoping she'll be able to come home in the next couple of days.

01:38:04 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 5:

All right. We're sending good, positive thoughts and prayers your way. Okay.

01:38:08 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much. This Thanksgiving is going to be very thankful for my family this year.

01:38:14 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 5:

See, I love that. I love to hear that. And I love the positive side of that. And your daughter is going to get better.

01:38:20 - 01:38:21 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:38:21 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 5:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:23 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 2:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:38:26 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 5:

Second date update, why are you not getting a call back? If you're not getting a call back after you have gone on a date or dates with somebody, text DATE right now to 95500, and we will get you on our show. Caleb's getting ghosted this morning. He's going to talk to us about that, and we're going to try to connect him with somebody, Caleb, that how long have you guys been seeing each other or gone out? It's been more than once, right?

01:38:52 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. Yeah, we've known each other for a while. And we've been kind of dating for about a month. Texted a ton and had a really, really great time. One of the best dates I've had in a long time.

01:39:13 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 5:

And you say you've known her for a while and you guys have been going back and forth for a month. How long has it been since you have talked to her? How long has she not been returning any of your messages?

01:39:25 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 2:

It's been like two weeks now.

01:39:27 - 01:39:47 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right, so we're going to find out what's going on and why it is that you're not getting any calls back. It's the second date update here at Mojo in the Morning. Mira, how you doing? Okay. How are you? We got Caleb on the phone with us right now. Will you say hello to Caleb?

01:39:47 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 4:

I guess

01:39:50 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 2:

Hey How you doing Good to hear from you

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

We actually called her So

01:40:00 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 2:

so I guess I guess it is good to hear from her but she didn't really like just call out of the blue so real quick I just want to kind of get an idea on this one here you guys have been friends for a little bit or known each other for a little bit and now all of a sudden it seems like he said that you're not responding to him it's been a couple of weeks what's going on

01:40:24 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 5:

not much not much

01:40:29 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 2:

nothing's going on or what is there like a is there a reason that it's been two weeks of

01:40:36 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 5:

of not responding what can i say it was uh i almost felt like i was interviewing him what do you mean by that i don't understand and i'm no no offense to him or anything but But, you know, she was just like, you know, I have my friends, and they say that I'm a good listener. And on the date, quoting date, he was just talking, you know, about his goals and his job. of how he wants to quit his job and about his mom's love life. And I just, honestly, it felt like a therapy section.

01:41:36 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 2:

So you were on a date with him or on dates with him, and you felt like the dates were just him talking and you listening. Yeah, I'm not going to be a listener. Was he asking you any questions about you or trying to, you know, have conversation more so than no no what do you have to say to that Caleb

01:41:59 - 01:42:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm like I I don't know I'm like kind of shocked to be honest with you I I got it was like one of the best dates I've like ever been on she's like such a good listener dude like I I just I don't know I I felt like there was a great connection and I felt like we got to know each other and And I just felt, I felt really seen, cheesy, but I felt like really seen, you know, when someone really sees you.

01:42:31 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 3:

So you just wanted to open up, like, about everything.

01:42:36 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Did you, did you ask her about her at all?

01:42:44 - 01:42:45 | Speaker 4:

No. Okay.

01:42:45 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 2:

All right. at any point during any of the time that you guys have known each other have i mean has he ever been one that has asked you because obviously if you guys have been known each other for more than a month or seeing each other for more than a month you had to have some good times it was it just the last date that made it the bad one mera mera um i'm just a good listener my friends say that all of times um i gotta be honest with you you're tough for me to talk to so i'm so i'm wondering

01:43:20 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 5:

if maybe he's talking because you're very quiet i just want to go on a date that somebody wants

01:43:29 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 1:

to talk about me or just asks you okay yeah i mean they're both difficult to talk to i don't think she deserves all of the blame and it's awkward to tell people why you don't like them but let's not forget he's repeating everything he's saying at minimum three times okay but

01:43:46 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 2:

i'm i asked i'm let me ask this question let me ask you mira has there been a point at all in the time that you guys have known each other where you liked him because you guys have been together you're usually when we do second date update it's people that have only known each other for a short time you guys have known each other for a very long time i think he's great as

01:44:08 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 3:

a friend you just want him as a friend so why didn't you say that that's all you needed to say

01:44:14 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 4:

but just something well guys i just gotta jump in here i mean she's she's uh she's being modest i mean he she's she's so great i mean she's she's so great um she's just uh she's so great

01:44:38 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. You're so bad. Well, I don't think that we're going to get another date for you. Yeah, it's over. Caleb, and I appreciate the thought of wanting to go out on another date with her, but I don't think that she seems interested at all in you. What are your thoughts on this one? Ella, what do you think?

01:44:59 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Caleb.

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 5:

You say she's a good listener, but are you? What do you know about her? What's your favorite color?

01:45:06 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 2:

Caleb, can you answer any of these questions?

01:45:11 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 5:

Favorite color?

01:45:14 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 2:

It's got to be... Okay. All right. All right. Thank you so much. Ella, have you ever gone on a date with a guy that all he did was talk about himself?

01:45:26 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It was not great. But he thought I was a great listener, too. And it's like they don't try to get to know you, and that's what they want. It's like, what can you do for them? But what about it? It has to be a symbiotic relationship, you know? Oh, good word. You give and take.

01:45:43 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that was impressive. It's kind of that. So what do you do when you're on the date? Do you just sit there and nod your head and then just don't go out with them again? Or should you say something and say, you know what? This ain't working. Has anybody ever had that, where somebody's actually said, you know, I don't think we're actually really great together?

01:46:04 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 7:

I'm trying to think if I've said that. Have you ever?

01:46:09 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think I have. Yeah, you have? Okay. Kim, what's going on? Hello, Kim.

01:46:17 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 6:

Hi, how you doing this morning?

01:46:18 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on? Second date update.

01:46:21 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 6:

I feel like he's a stage five clinger, and she needs to run as fast as she can away from him. Yeah.

01:46:25 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 2:

You think he's a... Really? Every guy's a stage fight's clinger when we do a second date update to our listeners.

01:46:33 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 6:

He's a little on the creepy side, I'm not going to lie. Did you listen to him, Mojo?

01:46:38 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 2:

He sounds honestly, to be quite honest, like a nerd. I mean, he doesn't sound like he's an interesting guy.

01:46:44 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 7:

She's great. He's never gone out on a date before.

01:46:46 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 6:

She's so great. I would run. I don't know. I get an ick out of his voice. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.

01:46:53 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 2:

Allie, what are your thoughts? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:46:55 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 4:

second date update hi yeah so i was just saying like maybe like when he's opening up and talking to her like maybe she should share similar experiences with him and open up herself instead of like waiting to be asked questions that way that communication barrier broke

01:47:12 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 2:

yeah like break that change sometimes sometimes i do think that we just depend on the person that we're with or somebody that you're talking to to just talk and you have to almost pull it out of

01:47:26 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 7:

them but you say this all the time mojo that people are lacking a certain social skill now

01:47:31 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 2:

that we're all covid made people socially stupid but you know what i don't think we can no i don't

01:47:36 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 7:

think we can use that as an excuse anymore guys that was really no years ago okay yeah i agree with you but that's not on her either like if he's lacking that skill that's not on her to teach him that it's on her to say right no thanks and move along and find somebody new that's on him to be like nobody wants to date me maybe it's the way i present myself michelle what were your thoughts

01:47:59 - 01:48:06 | Speaker 2:

hi mojo this is michelle msu pd hey what's up michelle what's going on go green go white

01:48:06 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 3:

yeah go white um caleb is on my nerve i mean the thing is you know the thing is like if you want to really get if you want to talk to somebody you've got to talk you have to let them talk And it should be a two-way conversation If somebody's talking about themselves all the time I am done

01:48:23 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 1:

Michelle, she don't really sound like she's saying anything though

01:48:27 - 01:48:33 | Speaker 3:

You know what, Kev? You know It didn't sound like he gave her the opportunity

01:48:33 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 1:

I mean, even when we were talking to her It was kind of like, eh

01:48:36 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 3:

I know, she sounds quiet She sounds quiet

01:48:40 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, can you imagine being the waiter Or the waitress trying to get an order out of either one of them, though?

01:48:50 - 01:48:50 | Unknown:

No.

01:48:51 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

No, you're right. But you're right. I think Megan said, you know, he said everything three times. And he said she's great three times right after she said that. So, but Mojo, you got to get my number again because I'm going to come up to see you at Fede Kai. Hold on.

01:49:04 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 2:

So I asked Lydia for your phone number on Parents Weekend, and Lydia didn't have it. So give it to Lydia. Hold on one sec. By the way, I went to the dairy shop, too. Oh, my God.

01:49:15 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 3:

I was right there.

01:49:16 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 2:

The best ice cream ever. No, I went there the day after we went on Sunday.

01:49:20 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes, yes, yes. It is the best. It's so good. It is.

01:49:23 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 2:

Hold on one sec, okay?

01:49:25 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 3:

All right, sounds good. Yep.

01:49:27 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 1:

All right. This is the home of the Dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. And more of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 4:

Weekday morning during the dirties and the thirties to win tickets. What's up, Jen?

01:50:03 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 2:

We talked about this briefly earlier, but I want to circle back because it was such a big story. Has been such a big story since Sunday. Michael Strahan finally explaining the story behind what happened during the national anthem that caused him to get so much crap over the past couple of days. So he works as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports and was just slammed on the Internet after failing to put his hand over his heart for the anthem during a live show from the San Diego Naval Base the day before Veterans Day. I mean, people were campaigning for Fox Sports to fire him over this, okay? And yesterday, it got to the point where the Daily Mail showed up at his house and they were screaming at him to comment on the situation.

01:50:45 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 5:

Don't come to my house. Do you have any comment?

01:50:48 - 01:50:50 | Unknown:

Come to my house.

01:50:50 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 2:

That was yesterday.

01:50:51 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 4:

That was a Jason Kelsey moment there.

01:50:53 - 01:51:08 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday he said, you know, I regret how I behaved in that situation with the paparazzi. But he also explained why his hand wasn't over his heart for the anthem. And he said he was just simply having a moment of awe toward all of the young soldiers.

01:51:09 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 3:

We had our national anthem. I didn't have my hand over my chest. Everyone thought he's protesting. He's making a statement, which is so far from the truth. I have nothing to protest. I have no statement to be made. The only statement that should be made and that I want to make is I love the military. And by the time I looked up from that moment, all my five guys had their hands over their hearts, the national anthem playing. I somewhat panicked, and I'm like, do I be the fool that puts his hand over his heart after? Or do I just stand here with my hand in front of me respectfully, which that's what I did. That's what happened.

01:51:45 - 01:51:45 | Speaker 4:

Respectfully.

01:51:46 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't even think he should have had to comment on that. I think this situation got so blown out of proportion.

01:51:51 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 5:

It's ridiculous how people pick and choose what they want to fight for.

01:51:56 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think that the interesting thing is I think he should have, or Fox should have when they saw that it was trending on Sunday, they should have addressed it during the thing and helped the guy out. Like, I don't know why. They always come back at the end of the games, the 4 o'clock games, and they always come back and go, all right, here's the wrap-up. And then they should have said, hey, and by the way, And I think what happened was Because they were out there on that naval ship Those guys left And then they went to Clarissa Thompson Or whatever that was back in the studio And she did the wrap up And honestly if I was him And I saw that it was trending on social media You would have cut this all out If he would have said something

01:52:34 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 5:

Let me ask you this Tell me if I'm wrong Because I like hearing different perspectives You're wrong Go ahead I like hearing different perspectives I don't feel like you should apologize For other people's stupidity And I think that's this particular situation Like just because people all of a sudden want to make an uproar about it if it's foolish their perspective and I'm saying like I'm almost cuz there I think their perspective in this situation is foolish and I feel like if you believe that then you shouldn't have to apologize because somebody else is stupid I was told that's

01:53:03 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 1:

the respectful way to participate in the national anthem well I just like I thought kneeling was

01:53:11 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 4:

as well I think unfortunately with social media these days you have to put fires out sometimes and putting the fires out, you have to do it.

01:53:19 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 2:

We have veterans texting us who say he did nothing wrong. No. And they are totally fine with it.

01:53:26 - 01:53:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's the Karens on social media. It's the same people.

01:53:29 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 5:

They also send other stuff in the text messages. I'm about to respond to them right now, dog Dan. Coming right back at you, buddy.

01:53:35 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. Stupid. Okay. Olivia Munn and John Mulaney were talking about their relationship. They sat down for an interview with GQ. And she was telling the story about how when she was six months pregnant with their first child, she actually staged an intervention for him. Do you know his journey with sobriety and drugs and alcohol? So a couple of years ago, he shared that he had been sober since 2005, then had kind of fell off the wagon, voluntarily checked himself into rehab in December of, I believe it was 2020, for alcoholism and cocaine addiction, and has just really struggled with this. Olivia Munn has been there by his side and really helped him since their relationship started. And so they decided at one point that Olivia would give John random drug tests, which they still do today. And John Mulaney said that it might sound crazy, but it comes as a huge relief to him. He said, I like to be able to not even have that be a question in her mind or anybody else's mind. He said something about peeing in that cup is like, I'm walking this walk. It gives me confidence. So he is totally good with it.

01:54:42 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 1:

I don't know why I just had a huge brain fart. I saw him on tour twice on his last tour, and I didn't make the connection. That's what his last stand-up special is about. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's very, very interesting.

01:54:52 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, when should people actually start decorating for Christmas? Christmas.

01:55:00 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 1:

Trees specifically, traditionally trees and holiday decor, should go up on the first day of Advent or the fourth Sunday before Christmas. So, if you're trying to follow the quote-unquote rules here, this year that would fall on December 1st.

01:55:18 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 2:

I remember that.

01:55:18 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 1:

Not supposed to put up your tree until December 1st.

01:55:20 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys do an Advent calendar thing with your kids?

01:55:23 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 1:

I mean, we do, but the kids, they eat like 20 candies on December 1st. I know. And then they ruin it. I remember when I was in catechism and stuff, we would do the wreath with the four candles, three purple, one pink.

01:55:38 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 2:

My brother Bill would open them all, eat all the candies, and then try to glue them back together so my mom didn't know them all at the same time.

01:55:44 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 3:

I got a neighbor that has a, is it Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas, the skeleton? Yeah. They had him out there since Halloween, and recently they just put Santa hat on him. Oh, that's correct.

01:55:55 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 1:

01:56:45 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 1:

I couldn't find Lydia and KP yesterday when I was doing a tour on my Instagram. I had no idea what studio they were in because they're doing the show from a totally separate studio than us. I was lost.

01:56:56 - 01:57:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, people don't have any idea. When you look in our building now, we have the producer's room mirrored or glassed through the hair we can see. And this next one here is all technology-based. And so she'll be in a room that will be just down the hall. So you can actually, if you see Shannon's social yesterday, you can actually see what the studio looks like. I love having the glass window to be able to see everybody from the studios. I think that's going to be awesome to be able to get a little bit of a vibe of which salespeople show up late to work every day. I'm going to call their asses out By the way, first salesperson in every day Is going to get a free plug for a client on the air Oh, I like this That's going to be their reward JC, are you there?

01:57:35 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 3:

I am, how are you?

01:57:37 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 2:

Good, you're going, you're going to Jingle Ball

01:57:39 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 3:

I'm so excited Oh my gosh, I can't believe I got through

01:57:44 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 2:

We are so excited for you Congratulations to you, you got Jingle Ball tickets And you know everybody that's going to be there, right?

01:57:51 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, absolutely. Teddy Swims, I am ready for more than anything.

01:57:56 - 01:58:07 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Everybody's so excited for Teddy. We've got a lot of people that are excited for Jack Harlow, Jason Derulo, Saweetie, Madison Beer. We're going to set you up with a pair of tickets, okay?

01:58:08 - 01:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Thank you so much. I cannot believe this is happening.

01:58:11 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 2:

And a huge thank you to our good friend, Tanya Lalonde at Summit Place Kia. We're giving away a brand new 2024 Kia Telluride That night So it'll be fun Holy crap I really appreciate you guys That is a holy crap moment So hang on the phone for just one second And we'll get some information from you, okay?

01:58:36 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 1:

Perfect, thank you so much What?

01:58:39 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 3:

Y'all said I couldn't post the birth video Trust me, we all saw

01:58:43 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I literally opened up my Instagram and a baby popped out of her vagina. Same. I couldn't even hit play. It just happened. First thing on my timeline. I just texted Megan. I go, baby just popped out of Sherelle's vagina in my face. It's there.

01:59:00 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 2:

Coming up next, speaking of something similar to that, Shannon and a little TMI bursting out of hers coming up here next. I don't know. We'll be right back. It has to deal with that, though, doesn't it? Kind of, right? We'll be right back. It's the nicest four-letter word you'll say today. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning, your home of the War of the Roses. Tuesdays and Thursdays here on the show, Bustin' Cheaters. Text cheater to 95500 if you would like to get a War of the Roses on. Megan and Shannon, sometimes you guys get into a point where you guys are just having conversations with each other and I just want to dip all the music down and just listen to it

01:59:49 - 01:59:50 | Speaker 1:

because it's so heavy you don't.

01:59:52 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 2:

There's always been conversations where you guys will be talking about stuff and I'm going, I don't know, this sounds like it's too much.

02:00:00 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 1:

too personal. Maybe I should put the monitors up, but this one didn't happen in this studio. This one happened in our studio that we're going to be moving to. So the past two days after the

02:00:08 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 3:

show, they've been really long, but like really fun days of us doing the show here in our old studio in Farmington Hills and then driving downtown to our new studios in Eastern Market in Detroit. So we're not, you know, getting home until, well, at least I'm not getting home. I know Megan, you're at work a little bit later than me, but I'm not getting home until past our normal time by about a couple of hours. And so the day before yesterday, I looked over to Megan at one point and I said, OK, we need to speed this along a little bit and be done because it is past the time I normally do my afternoon underwear change, if you know what I mean. And if you've listened to the show for any amount of time, you know, I change my underwear multiple times a day. It's just this weird habit I have. I like a fresh pair of underwear. I like feeling really clean. But I think it was how I said it to her. she was like I love that you want to tell me everything but there are some things that just

02:01:01 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 4:

really cross the line here here's the thing I have been begging you to be like you can tell me what's going on yada yada yada and then I heard that come out of your mouth and I went you asked for this and I regret it and also a follow-up question part two um why a complete underwear change I don't these had I should have googled it had to have been invented decades ago

02:01:27 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 3:

panty liners are a thing um yes but when uh how do I I was especially it was it not eight million degrees in that studio our new studio so I was also sweaty so it was just like I wanted to a

02:01:43 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 1:

completely fresh pair what what is uh the the uh how many pairs do you go through a day I got so

02:01:50 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 3:

many questions i'm asking usually two sometimes three so extra questions because i may have them

02:01:55 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 1:

all right so the the second question i have so two to three and what are you have times of this like is it is it one of those things where it's like a breakfast lunch dinner you have a new pair

02:02:04 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 3:

for each meal or what no i just it's something west thinks it's weird too it's something that i it's like a habit that i have as soon as i get home from here i like will pee and put on a new pair? And put on a new pair of underwear while I'm doing that.

02:02:18 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 1:

Is it kind of like when you put on your house clothes or your stuff that you're just going to lay around the house in and then you put a new pair on then? Yes. Before I take a nap. Do you have a sleeping pair or what do you do then? I air it out when I sleep. You do? Okay. This is an interesting one because I don't know if anybody else does multiple underwear changes a day or wardrobe changes. My wife always yells at me how much clothes I'll wear during the day. She'll be like, can you stop changing your clothes so much because you know we're you're doing we ended up having to do laundry so often how often do you have to do your laundry i don't know i'm i don't have a regular

02:02:55 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 3:

schedule for doing laundry when it gets done it gets done so it's so it's not like you are

02:03:00 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 1:

doing laundry then no it's just a pair of underwear how much underwear do you own a lot

02:03:05 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 3:

a lot of drugs a lot shout out to amazon they make the lululemon underwear dupes it's like six pairs for twelve dollars amazing send me that link i will share um but what is it about

02:03:15 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 4:

this show specifically where we have zero boundaries? I love you guys. I love you so much. There should be a line somewhere. And I don't know why it's never been drawn.

02:03:27 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I feel like we all share everything with each other, even if it is TMI.

02:03:33 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 1:

I always assume that the girls always just share this stuff anyway. Because Kevin and I talk about our underwear

02:03:39 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 3:

all the time. Tell me about it, please.

02:03:41 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 2:

No, you don't. Don't listen to this man.

02:03:43 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 3:

You guys describe your poops to each other.

02:03:47 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Okay. I had one with some corn in it this morning.

02:03:50 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 1:

I got to tell you, can I be honest with you? You need to change your underwear more often. I'm listening to this. Apparently you all do. I do find it funny that this next studio that we're moving into is a much smaller facility. And some of the private conversations that you can have in this studio aren't so private. And then also I just found this out. tony the tiger our engineer tony told us that you can hear the mics in other studios if i want to pull up and hear what people are talking about there are buttons that i can pull up and i can listen to private conversations unless you have some special buttons pushed on the board that's scary that make it that you cannot hear because the microphones are always not live on the air but live for people that's ridiculous so our bosses could be listening in on our conversations

02:04:39 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 2:

The scary thing, too, was when he showed us that every studio has, like, a video recorder on it or a camera that you can tap into and see what other people are doing without their, like, that's, why are we, who's making this stuff?

02:04:52 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

You know who would never want to work in this building or the new building? Slim. Slim, who used to work here on the station, he used to.

02:05:00 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 3:

think that the government was spying on us all the time the government would have been our bosses which i agree now with slim that i think we are getting spied on what's up lauren how you doing i'm doing good how are you guys fantastic so shannon uh changes her underwear has multiple costume changes every single day you do too i do too yeah i'm not you're not the

02:05:22 - 02:05:42 | Speaker 2:

only one shannon i go through about two to three pairs as well i just feel um i i'm up working all day i do travel marketing so sitting i feel gross sometimes so i go home and i change um or and then i take a shower at night and change again so it's definitely i feel normal yeah so this is a common

02:05:42 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 3:

thing for women are there any guys that do this are there any guys listening to us that change their draws and draws the only time draws get changed is after a shower yeah that's when you put the new ones on you got to put new ones on you don't know anybody that puts old ones on after shower do you reuse draws i used to live with a guy named kid marconi and kid marconi he would have one pair of underwear that would lay on the floor and i go hey can you pick up your underwear it's just laying on the floor and he would say well i'm gonna put them back on a second

02:06:13 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 4:

it's disgusting

02:06:17 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 3:

what's up how you doing melissa hey how are you guys first time long

02:06:23 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I actually carry underwear and a Ziploc in my purse for this exact reason. That way I can throw my dirty in the Ziploc and wash it when I get home.

02:06:37 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Melissa, I love you. Yeah. That's crazy.

02:06:44 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 4:

I actually like the Ziploc, though, to put the dirties in.

02:06:48 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 5:

If you met a woman and she had to carry around a Ziploc bag for her dirty underwear and her purse, you would say, what's wrong in your life?

02:06:59 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 3:

You know what I want to get?

02:07:00 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 5:

Or you are especially clean.

02:07:01 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 3:

Melissa, you know what I want to get for you?

02:07:03 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 5:

What's that?

02:07:04 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 3:

I want to have my buddies who work for a police department get me an evidence bag. I'll take it. And that will be your thing, because how funny would it be to have a bag that says police evidence and have your underwear inside of one of those things?

02:07:19 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 1:

That would be great. You guys have a great day.

02:07:22 - 02:07:33 | Speaker 3:

You take care of yourself. Guys, by the way, texting in, they think that this is crazy. There's one guy here that says, I have worn one pair of underwear two days in a row.

02:07:33 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Oh, yeah, for sure. You have done this? You change your underwear every day? You shower every day. Every day.

02:07:39 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 5:

Wait, stop, stop. You don't change your underwear every single day?

02:07:42 - 02:07:42 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't.

02:07:42 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 5:

What?

02:07:43 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 4:

I only change my underwear if I shower. What?

02:07:46 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 5:

What?

02:07:47 - 02:07:48 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you all the truth.

02:07:48 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 5:

Okay, we can find a middle ground here, people.

02:07:51 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Wait, there's no way you actually do this? I change my underwear when I shower. I do not change them every day. Unless I'm real sweaty down there.

02:08:02 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 3:

I don't get the idea that you don't shower every day, but at least change your underwear every day.

02:08:05 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 4:

I'm not that busy to where I'm running around sweating and doing all the day. I'm not going to pull my jaw up from the floor.

02:08:11 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Bro, dude, you said the other day you didn't shower for four days.

02:08:15 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 4:

I've had those times before, and I had the same drawers on. Disgusting. Bro.

02:08:21 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 3:

This guy, by the way, I can't believe that you would say something like that on the air. I'm calling your mother.

02:08:27 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm calling your mother. I'm not lying.

02:08:29 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 5:

No, but you should be shamed. I'm not ashamed. You should be.

02:08:33 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 3:

I shouldn't be.

02:08:33 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I just posted on my Instagram story what the Amazon.

02:08:37 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 3:

My mom used to always say you got to change and have clean underwear every day because you never know if you're going to be in an accident. You don't want to go to that.

02:08:43 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 4:

My mom used to say that too.

02:08:46 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Jacqueline, what do you think about this? Kevin's disgusting.

02:08:49 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 2:

Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, Kevin. It's either clean underwear or no underwear. We are not wearing the dirties. No, it's just not happening in my life.

02:09:00 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 3:

It's horrible.

02:09:01 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 4:

So, never mind.

02:09:03 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no.

02:09:04 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 4:

No, because it ain't make sense. I was going to ask, like, I guarantee you, y'all have worn jeans and y'all have never washed them. Yeah, but I got underwear on underneath. Okay. Yes.

02:09:13 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 2:

The underwear's the barrier. The underwear's the barrier. That's what keeps you fresh and clean.

02:09:18 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

Gotcha. So your private parts are the only thing that's getting nasty when you wear jeans. But y'all cool wearing jeans 40 times and never washing them. Okay.

02:09:25 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 3:

That's awful.

02:09:26 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 2:

I'm not 40, but yeah. Yeah. Underwear, you got to be fresh.

02:09:29 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 3:

By the way, people that are texting in saying, I'm feeling Kev, I want you to pick up your phone because we need to know who your disgusting ass is. What's up, Eric? How you doing? Good. How are you? I'm with Kev on this one. Oh, you're disgusting. Hold on. You can't swear. Hold on. Wait a second. Stop for a second. Eric just says he doesn't work really hard every day. He doesn't need to change his underwear every day. Tell everybody again. What do you do for a living?

02:09:56 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm a roofer. A roofer? You sweat a lot. I don't work. I don't sweat every day. I don't have to change my underwear every day, man.

02:10:07 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 3:

Eric, you're on a freaking roof, you big goofball.

02:10:12 - 02:10:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, but I don't sweat every day, man. It's cold out right now, right?

02:10:16 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 3:

But, Eric, your balls are always sweaty, even if it's cold. Even if you're below zero, your balls are...

02:10:22 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 5:

And you fart, and that's fecal matter coming out. Eric, are you in a relationship, Eric? Google. Yeah. oh my god your poor partner shannon i take everything back thank you listen

02:10:34 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 4:

But I've been times where I've just seen if she was down to get down.

02:11:01 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 1:

And if she down for it, then we're here.

02:11:05 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 3:

What's that? Oh my god, you're disgusting. You're disgusting. I don't even want to talk to you anymore, Eric. Get off my phone. Go back on the roof. Okay. John, what's up, John?

02:11:15 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 4:

Girls be trying to act like me. I don't do it every day either. Oh, disgusting.

02:11:20 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

What do you do for a living?

02:11:24 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 4:

I work I sell a cell phone.

02:11:26 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 3:

You sell a cell phone guy. Okay, here we go. I'm never getting a cell phone for you.

02:11:30 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 5:

John, are you in a relationship? Yes, I'm married for 21 years. Go on, John. Somebody explain to me what the hell is going on. What do you mean?

02:11:42 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:11:43 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Because I shower, but there are people out here not showering in relationships. Yeah. And I can't find a man who will have a normal conversation and shower regularly. And I'm blamed all the time for being single. The standards for men and women are so different. It's awful. My head is exploding right now.

02:12:03 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 4:

If you're smelly, then you definitely need to shower every day. But if I do not stink, then you'll be fine. Christina, what's up?

02:12:14 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I feel for Megan because this conversation has totally spiraled. But Janon said it, and I was waiting to say it. particles do come out when you fart. What do you mean?

02:12:29 - 02:12:37 | Speaker 3:

It is true. When you blow one out, like you did yesterday at the studio door, did you change your underwear since yesterday? Farting releases

02:12:37 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 5:

a little bit of fecal material. Every time. It is the release of gases that are going through your intestines, through your rectum, yes. And that fecal matter

02:12:48 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 3:

can get all the way around to your privates there. Every time you fart, fecal. Send me the link Oh my god This is just awful All right What a bad day See they say sometimes

02:13:55 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't think that's how her job works, but for her, she's dumb, it does.

02:14:00 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 3:

Really? Okay. So it's kind of like the Monopoly game, huh?

Lie number two.

02:14:17 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 5:

02:14:31 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 5:

I need you to talk him out of calling the police. Okay.

02:14:35 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 3:

And lie number five. There's weed in my car, and I'll get arrested. Now, just to make sure As a police officer's daughter You don't have a fake ID No And there's no weed in your car

02:14:52 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 2:

02:14:53 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 3:

Making sure on this one We're calling your mom

02:14:56 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

02:17:03 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's just on the 500 feet away. Okay. How are you? No, I was good. Your daughter tried to use a fake ID. Yeah, and I'm going to beat her a**. She told me you're a peace officer.

02:17:18 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes. My husband and I.

02:17:22 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she needs a talking to for this.

02:17:25 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she's in big trouble.

02:17:27 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 1:

She's crying right now.

02:17:29 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, she's going to be doing more and then crying.

02:17:32 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 1:

You want to talk to her again? Here, I'll put you on the phone with her again.

02:17:35 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm on my way up there.

02:17:36 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 1:

Nah, nah, I'll let her go. If you're a police officer, I like police officers.

02:17:41 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm already halfway up there. You are? Oh, yeah. Okay. I'm pet.

02:17:47 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 1:

Well, she's got one more thing she needs to tell you before you get all the way up here.

02:17:51 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:17:52 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead, Mikayla. Mom.

02:17:54 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 4:

What? You're on five lives to tell your mom on 955. What?

02:18:01 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 1:

Mom, this is...

02:18:02 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 4:

I just saw you drive past me, Mom.

02:18:04 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 1:

Mom, here on Mojo in the Morning's Five Lies to tell your mom.

02:18:07 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 4:

You were driving so fast. Mom, I was in my neighborhood.

02:18:10 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Slow down. She drove so fast past me. I'm so angry right now. I could freaking kill her.

02:18:16 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 1:

To do this Five Lies to tell your mom, you not only left the house, but you also did drive up towards the party store?

02:18:23 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I did. She must have. Her car is gone, so that's why I totally believe her. I don't know.

02:18:28 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 4:

How did you not see my car? You were not looking, Mom. I'm literally right in the middle.

02:18:31 - 02:18:33 | Speaker 3:

I'm so mad right now.

02:18:33 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, oh, my gosh.

02:18:35 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 3:

You guys are not funny.

02:18:37 - 02:18:38 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:40 - 02:18:40 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:18:41 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama. Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys listening. You got a kid with you. Maybe not a good topic to be listening to a kid with, But sometimes some people are different. Some people are like, hey, I like my kids getting educated by you guys. All right. So here's my thing I want to talk about. And I think that we'll get some funny calls on this one. I want to ask the listeners, and I'll give my example, and it might help you think of one. What are some things that should not be talked about while you are in the midst of baking cookies, okay? Some conversations that should not be talked about. I am a big believer that conversation should not happen during sex. I think that if anything, the only thing you're doing is dirty talking, okay? And what I mean by this is Chelsea and I were in the midst of, you know, baking cookies, as people like to say. And while we were having sex or while we were in. that moment and she gets mad at me all the time because she says that i am a like i like to like breathe into her air like she's like will you stop that what do you mean she's like oh yeah like you know what i mean like i'm cleaning cleaning off like a window or something like that why y'all having sex you're doing this i like to do for some reason i always thought that she liked it when i like like blew into her air or like you know what i mean she doesn't like that stuff so she kind of like backs away from me a little bit because she doesn't want me to do it and she all of a sudden in the moment of us you know doing our thing she goes have you called luke yet to talk to him about and i don't want to give out the blah blah blah blah luke is my son and i'm like oh why do you got to bring up our kids or parenting or any of the parenting stuff while we're having sex yeah like there's certain things i don't want to even have to i like to me at that moment i don't even want to think i have kids you know what i mean like i don't want that like why it's kind you know what it's like it's it's like in the middle of you having sex basically saying i have responsibilities in my life like hey did you pay the mortgage you know or hey time to mow the grass yeah that's right no like seriously i don't want to do that and i want so this is the conversation that i would like to ask what's the biggest buzz kill that happened during sex like what was what was said or talked about during sex that made that sexual experience not as fun as it should have been like to me the only thing i want you to say is you know

02:21:38 - 02:21:54 | Speaker 1:

ooh baby you're hot or you got the biggest you know whatever i got one i don't know like i'm thinking of when i watch porn i never watch porn and i never see mia khalifa going hey did you call your son up at college and tell him he's got to go do something.

02:21:54 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Ruby Rose, too. Oh, my God. Y'all got no porn names, y'all know? Yes, you do.

02:22:00 - 02:22:14 | Speaker 3:

No, never. I would never watch that filth. I would never have a person I follow. I did date a guy once, and I always thought this was really weird, where if I laughed, we couldn't continue the activity.

02:22:15 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 4:

Because he was mad? Like, he was offended?

02:22:17 - 02:22:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:22:17 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 4:

Why were you laughing? Yeah, what are you laughing about?

02:22:19 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 3:

We broke the bed. It was hysterical. And he was like, well, now we can't keep going. Because I laughed and he couldn't keep going.

02:22:28 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's terrible.

02:22:29 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 4:

Gus hates it when I comment on, like I get super self-conscious about my breath. And he loves waking up in the middle of the night and waking me up, which I just told Megan was last night. Like I'm sound asleep. I brushed my teeth four hours ago. And so if he wakes me up, I'm always like, oh my God, my breath's so bad, my breath's so bad. And he's like, that, I don't care. I hate that too. I don't care what your breath smells like.

02:22:52 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 1:

I hate that, too. I hate that, and I also hate when I go to kiss Chelsea, and she's like, my breath smells, and I don't want to kiss you for that reason.

02:23:00 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:23:01 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 1:

That's the moment your breath could smell like rancid doo-doo, and I would be fine with it. You don't care. Oh, I'm the opposite. Really?

02:23:09 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 3:

You can have fun. Don't kiss me.

02:23:11 - 02:23:11 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:23:11 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 2:

I just don't want you to get on the phone afterwards. That's my thing.

02:23:14 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's the worst.

02:23:15 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 2:

At least, you know.

02:23:17 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 1:

That is.

02:23:18 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 2:

Act like it.

02:23:19 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 1:

Half, here you go. It's kind of crazy to know this. Like when people are talking, half the time that people are having sex, 50% of the time, people say they want quiet sex. I don't necessarily know if I want quiet sex. Do you guys want quiet sex? No.

02:23:34 - 02:23:48 | Speaker 4:

I just want enjoyable sex. So sometimes I like quiet sex if we have to be quiet for a reason. Because then it's fun. It's like an adventure. Like if there are kids sleeping or if we're in a place where we shouldn't be having sex and you have to be really quiet,

02:23:49 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 2:

then I think it's good. Yeah, no, I'm with you on that one, too. Because you don't want to get caught. It's like suspenseful.

02:23:55 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I just want to stop this topic for one second. You may have to edit this out, Zach. I think that they finally shut our internet off. They did.

02:24:04 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 4:

It's gone. Oh, is that what happened? Yeah, everything of mine just went down.

02:24:08 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 1:

I think our internet, so I'm going to have to go to my phone right now to read some of these text messages.

02:24:12 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 4:

Not to be honest.

02:24:12 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 1:

I think that the company literally has shut everything down on us.

02:24:16 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 3:

I told you this would happen.

02:24:19 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 1:

Rotten bastards.

02:24:20 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 3:

You have to connect to the actual employee one and not the guest one. Oh, and that works then? Yes.

02:24:28 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 1:

But why would they do this to us?

02:24:30 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 3:

Great question.

02:24:30 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 2:

No guests will come in between now and Wednesday, apparently.

02:24:34 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Literally, I think they just took the router out of the building here because we're the lone stars left in this thing, and we can't get connected to the internet. That's crazy.

02:24:46 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 3:

so if I connect to what is it the employee one not the guest one all right what is the password for that here I don't know either I need it oh it's not

02:24:55 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 2:

our own no oh yeah you got to hit a beer buddy then Megan yeah

02:25:00 - 02:25:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you know what you've got to use? I know what you've got to do. You've got to use your work one.

02:25:05 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 6:

That's what I'm saying.

02:25:06 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 5:

All right, here it goes. Let's see. Do I still work here?

02:25:13 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 3:

If not, I can turn my hotspot on.

02:25:15 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 5:

Not even an email, though, to say this is what's going to happen. Who does this stuff? Shut it off. Literally. This is crazy. I can't believe this. All right, try to work. Oh, we've got calls on this topic now. Now back to our topic already in progress. Mojo in the morning, what's up, Mike? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. What did they bring up during sex?

02:25:39 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 6:

Anything about religion.

02:25:42 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 5:

Wait.

02:25:42 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 6:

If it ain't, oh, my God, then we don't need to talk about it. Amen.

02:25:47 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 5:

Wait. What was it that was talked about?

02:25:50 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Just like, are we going to go to church? I'm not thinking about that right now. I'm thinking about other things.

02:25:58 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Who did this? Your girl? My ex. Oh, my gosh. That is so funny.

02:26:06 - 02:26:10 | Speaker 6:

Listen, if Megan wants to talk about it, though, I mean, hey.

02:26:12 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 3:

Mike, what's your credit score? What do you do for a living?

02:26:16 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 6:

I coach college basketball. Oh, my gosh. Wait, wait, wait.

02:26:21 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 3:

For what school? Yep, what school?

02:26:24 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I can't say that on the air.

02:26:26 - 02:26:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you can. do you work do you work for all right hold on we'll talk to you off there that's cool i like that college basketball coach i like it what's up jessica what's up how you doing i'm great what's happening we're talking about uh things that you cannot talk about during sex or

02:26:44 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 3:

conversations you can't bring up during sex yeah um i get cold like at times like don't move and And I'm like, oh, because I'm like, oh, I get it.

02:26:56 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 5:

He doesn't want you to move because he's afraid that it's going to be all over with quickly, huh?

02:27:02 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, pretty much. And yeah.

02:27:05 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 5:

So that bothers the girls when that happens?

02:27:09 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because I'm like, I'm getting there.

02:27:13 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. So it's like, yeah. But then again, it may be one that we'll never get to if you move. he's got to start he's got to uh start being called tell him to start talking about religion at that moment start praying for that moment what's up uh initial l it's mojo in the morning how you doing good how are you good no talking during sex is the topic what's up

02:27:41 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 2:

all right so um one of the things is the uh one of the guys i sleep with would get mad when i I would wear my cross because, you know, I'm a priest and stuff. Wait, hold on.

02:27:54 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 5:

I don't understand what you're saying. Stop for a second. What is she saying? You want me to tell you?

02:27:59 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 4:

It's a man. It's a man.

02:28:01 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 5:

This is a man?

02:28:02 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:28:03 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 5:

This is a man that is on the phone? I didn't even know that. It's on for some reason. I didn't know that. We are gender free when we have our voice disguise machine.

02:28:13 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 4:

The priest is trying to give it away.

02:28:13 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. So you had somebody do what?

02:28:19 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 2:

they would get mad usually when i come in wearing my cross and they would always have me take off

02:28:24 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 5:

my cross and chain during sex when you would have sex the person that you're having sex with asked you to take your your necklace off that was a cross yeah because you're not supposed to be

02:28:37 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 4:

having sex anyway right yeah you've called us before yep wait this is the priest that's having sex yes you called us recently like a couple weeks ago about a topic oh i thought maybe it was

02:28:49 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 5:

because your necklace was banging them in the face like i'm going what is going on that's a legitimate reason by the way right there so this is that that uh priest or alleged priest i don't know if i believe it this is i think this is a baloney story i think this is somebody that's trying to talk crap i don't know lydia let's see lydia you're the you're the the religious person on the mojo in the morning show tell me if that you think that's a priest or not you think it's

02:29:18 - 02:29:24 | Speaker 3:

a priest or you think it's bs he did call himself father when he was oh god okay yes all right i'm

02:29:24 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 5:

also luke joey and jacob's father too that's a bunch of crap what's up avery by the way i don't want to hear about it during sex uh what's up yeah i don't want chelsea unless chelsea's calling me daddy during sex and i'm fine with it what's going on avery all right so i was hooking up with

02:29:42 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

this one actually one of my co-workers and she in the middle was like like do you have to work after this like i'm like i'm not trying to focus on work right now because i'm you know working other ways i get it like

02:30:00 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 4:

i don't want to have to give you my schedule don't don't give me a review like let's do an employment review in the middle of uh having sex what's up michael how you doing doing good how are you michael i'm doing fantastic we're talking about uh sex what's happening awesome so this

02:30:19 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 3:

just happened and honestly a lot of taylor people are pissed off so me and my wife i got home from work and it was a sunday uh did you take the trash out i said no all right go ahead and do it my dad says well it's veterans day don't take trash out i'm like yes sir because he's a veteran so later on that day me and my wife had sex and then in the middle of that like did you take trash out i'm like are you serious like it's veterans day we don't take trash out they don't pick up trash on Veterans Day. Yeah, it's a holiday. Exactly. Well, guess what? In Taylor, they picked up trash on Veterans Day. Are you kidding me?

02:30:59 - 02:31:07 | Speaker 4:

No, I am not kidding you. Why would the trash people pick up trash on Veterans Day? That's a holiday.

02:31:07 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 3:

They did. So I'm stuck with trash, but in the middle of sex, in the middle of sex.

02:31:15 - 02:31:18 | Speaker 1:

He said it twice, didn't he? Trip it.

02:31:18 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes! Are you effing kidding me? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon has the Dirty on the 30 right now. What do you got, Shannon?

02:31:32 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 5:

Well, fans are freaking out that Rihanna might be done making music. She hinted at retiring from music to focus on her business, ventures, and family during the Fenty Beauty launch in her home of Barbados this week. Now, a warning. The audio is kind of hard to hear, but I'll translate in a second.

02:31:51 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 1:

It was the thing that got the attention. But God had other plans for me, and I was able to create in ways that were ways of her, like, very sincere and genuine or organic.

02:32:06 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 5:

Basically, she just said, God has other plans for me at this point. So it was a hint. This wasn't a big announcement, but it's been a minute. No, I don't accept. As a part of the Navy, I do not accept. Get back in the studio. Last night, Stephen Colbert announcing who is People Magazine's sexiest man alive for 2024. It is...

02:32:34 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 2:

Without further ado, Joe, a drum roll, please. this year's people's sexiest man alive is john krasinski have you seen any of the videos that

02:32:47 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 5:

he made for people for this no i mean he really is pretty adorable he takes the title from last year's honoree shut up patrick dempsey he said his immediate reaction to getting the honor was just blackout he didn't he thought it was a joke but he's excited about it now and what is he promoting again um no i don't know if he's in there he's not in it our listeners lied oh okay lied maybe we don't know yet there's something something's coming or maybe john krasinski is

02:33:15 - 02:33:21 | Speaker 4:

the last of the guys that would accept it maybe no is that i still maintain it should have been

02:33:21 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 5:

adam why wouldn't you accept it though i don't know i always feel like that's kind of like the old school thing nowadays like like he'll do all the photo shoots and the videos and social media

02:33:29 - 02:33:40 | Speaker 1:

and stuff so we'll just give it to him maybe jack ryan movie is coming or did come i don't know and then a quiet place did that one come out there's another one yeah okay all right well

02:33:40 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 5:

wrong again mike tyson commenting on the fight that's going down between him and jake paul this friday on netflix is it a 30 year age difference is that what it is here yeah it's pretty good

02:33:50 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 1:

google it because we don't have any internet hey they never seen my fight they missed a hell of a a legacy. And Friday night, we'll look forward to seeing that man Jake Paul get beat. I want an interview

02:34:02 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 4:

with Mike Tyson and Michael Strahan. I want the two of them to sit down for it. Remember when Barbara Walters used to do the

02:34:09 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 5:

And the girl from 3LW.

02:34:11 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 4:

And the girl from 3LW. I want a one hour a one hour, you know, most fascinating people or whatever story. And it's got to be Mike Tyson and Michael Strahan together. It would be great. Two mics.

02:34:23 - 02:35:14 | Speaker 5:

She was also in the Cheetah Girls Thank you very much Throw some respect on her Alright, alright And who's Pookie? Haley Welch A.K.A. Huck to a girl Just will not go away But she might be Could be I don't know Dating Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold That's so random So, okay I don't think that this is Pookie But there have been some rumors Over the past couple of weeks We know this She has a boyfriend She calls him Pookie which I cannot stand that name but she previously told Jake Paul speaking of Jake Paul on a podcast that Pookie has black hair and the longest eyelashes you've ever seen. So that's what we know about him. I know there were some rumors she was hooking up with comedian Matt Reif. Morgan Wallen's name was thrown in there, although he doesn't have black hair. I want

02:35:14 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 4:

to see Haktua Girl and Sam Darnold together, just so that the Lions have a little bit of fun messing around with Sam Darnold. Sam Darnold is about to collapse. There's no way that this guy is as good a quarterback as his record for the Minnesota Vikings is right now. But Lydia said

02:35:32 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 5:

it's not him. Lydia's been following this story way closer than I have. No, she posted a video of her with Pookie. And who is Pookie? Who is he? He's some random man. He's not famous?

02:35:44 - 02:35:45 | Speaker 2:

No, not at all.

02:35:46 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 5:

I don't even think he has a job. Remember when people thought she was going to be super famous?

02:35:54 - 02:36:06 | Speaker 3:

She still is. You think she's famous? She's making money still. She's on the Dirty on the 30, Megan. She was last week at Comic-Con at Novi Town Center, hanging out.

02:36:06 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I would have wanted to see her. Our favorite is when we said her name. And Brad Galley interviewed her.

02:36:10 - 02:36:13 | Speaker 5:

When we said her name. I know all of us in our head went.

02:36:13 - 02:36:14 | Speaker 4:

Who?

02:36:15 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 5:

For all of today's Dirty Ketchup on the Flats.

02:36:16 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you got to do the last one. I got the Wheel of Fortune hair.

02:36:19 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, shoot. I totally forgot about the story. Yeah, you keep forgetting stories today. Oh, my God.

02:36:23 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 4:

This one, Kev sent this to us, and I thought this was actually kind of funny.

02:36:27 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 5:

It was a great wrong answer on Wheel of Fortune this week. Listen to this.

02:36:36 - 02:36:51 | Speaker 3:

I'd like to solve the problem. Okay, well, let's hear it. Treat yourself a round of sausage. I'm sorry, that's not it. Over to Katina. I'd like to solve. Okay. Give yourself a round of applause. That's it.

02:36:53 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 5:

Treat yourself a round of sausage. Come on, bro. That was a me sentence at 6 a.m. today.

02:37:00 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when I watch that show, I do that all the time. We're all trying to come up with the answer, and it's always something bad.

02:37:07 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 5:

Okay, now for all of today's Dirty, get yourself caught up by checking out the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:37:13 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 1:

02:38:06 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

Jason Gerulo.

02:38:07 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:38:08 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 3:

Come on, Riley. You got to sing it. Jason Gerulo.

02:38:14 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's going to be a really good show. It's going to be a lot of fun. We're excited for it. Our entire staff here at iHeart, this is like our Christmas party every single year. We kind of put it together, and we make it fun for everyone. And this year, we've never had a prize like this. We're giving away a brand new car, a 2024 Kia Telluride, which, by the way, you have a chance to win if you come to the show, but no purchase is necessary. There are free entries available. See rules for details on that. Have a great morning.

02:38:47 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. We love you guys.

02:38:48 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 4:

We love you, too.

02:38:50 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too.

02:38:52 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 4:

All right. We'll get your information. I'm still perplexed about why did the internet go down on us? Perplexed. Yes. In the middle of us trying to do the show, the internet just goes down. You said this the other day. It was Shannon or Megan. One of you guys said, they said, you know what's going to happen. We're going to show up one morning, and the power is going to go out.

02:39:18 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, our key cards aren't going to work and we're not going to have internet.

02:39:20 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Like we're here till Tuesday. Like we are literally here till Tuesday. And they asked me, I got this conversation going with the engineering staff. They said, how long are you guys going to stay on the air on Tuesday morning? And I said, well, you know, we go till 1030 every morning, right? Something like that. Sometimes give or take, you know, five or six minutes. And they told me, That the moment that we sign off They're literally taking everything out And they're moving it to the new studio So our entire studio is going to be gone And we're moving It's going to be

02:40:00 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 2:

wild it's you know what it is we're sitting in that room with just the couch or the chair that's what we're like you remember those days you'd be some people are still living in those days so you're sitting in a room where it's just you in the in the room and in one one chair one couch i'd have been there bro and it's that's what it's gonna be like i remember one time

02:40:18 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 1:

cheryl moved out and i didn't think she was serious i came home it was gone what did she leaves for you besides your clothes. It was a couch in there. That was it. That's it. She took the bed. No, I think I had the bed. I think that was it, though. I was standing around that room. If y'all are familiar, it's a Will Smith meme where they move. He'd only went in there. I was standing around my hands on my hips like, hmm.

02:40:42 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 2:

Can you find out who is the moving company she used?

02:40:46 - 02:40:47 | Unknown:

I need them.

02:40:48 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 2:

Has anybody else had that happen to them? Where they came home to the person that they're in a relationship with? or a roommate or who knows. Totally gone. And they took everything or moved everything out of the house. How do you do that like that? That's amazing that you're able to do it. But we hear these War of the Roses all the time where we have situations where it's like, I'm leaving your stuff on the front lawn. It truly left everything pretty much not on the front lawn. It left everything there. That's it? Wait, that was it? That's how I looked. Oh, that's you. Oh, I thought that was you.

02:41:23 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 1:

I love that Kev just shared this traumatic experience and Mojo's like, that's amazing!

02:41:28 - 02:41:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I love it.

02:41:29 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 1:

I love it.

02:41:30 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 2:

No, the reason I love it is because, you know, I don't know what, Kev, you did, but whatever you did.

02:41:36 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 1:

I was at somebody's house I quote-unquote shouldn't have been at, but we was having issues anyway, so it was, you know, she was already talking about leaving and it was already staying at her free house for a couple of days, so my mom, Lou's already broke up.

02:41:47 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, you know. Still.

02:41:50 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 1:

Don't steal me!

02:41:51 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 2:

No, still, that's terrible. I'm sorry, I was on your side. No, I'll steal you, whatever happened. What's going on? How you doing, Michelle? How are you?

02:42:01 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. How are you guys?

02:42:03 - 02:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Good. We're talking about how we pretty much got robbed here today. Everything's gone in our building. What's going on?

02:42:11 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 4:

Well, when my best friend's husband went to work, she had already ordered a moving truck. and I helped her load that bad boy up and I even took his barbecue and wheeled it through the house and out the front door.

02:42:27 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 2:

Did you really? Oh my God.

02:42:28 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 4:

You deserve a round of applause for that. Are you kidding me?

02:42:33 - 02:42:36 | Speaker 1:

Would have been crazy if I like the sit from Nicole

02:42:36 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 2:

was all over her carpet when she tried to roll it through. You gotta be a good friend to do that. Like that's a good friend moment.

02:42:44 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I love her. I mean, we left the appliances for him But we took everything out

02:42:49 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god Wow How long does it take you to do all that? Because that's a lot of work

02:42:56 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 4:

We probably did it in about six hours But we weren't I mean we weren't careful about a lot of the stuff That we weren't taking So we didn't care what got bumped into

02:43:07 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh so And how much was left for him?

02:43:11 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 4:

Um I mean he had a couch to sit on But we did take his Beanie Baby collection

02:43:17 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 1:

petty petty those are worth something right the right ones what is a grown man doing with a

02:43:26 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 2:

beanie baby collection that's why you're leaving them oh what's up katie how you doing i'm doing good how are you we're doing all right we're uh we're still trying to figure out how i'm going to get online here i can't get online to to do my uh jersey mike's order for lunch what's going on

02:43:41 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 3:

um i'm doing all right i am calling because i was one of those women who um had their um husband go to work and my older sister brother-in-law and younger sister all moved me out while he was at work and i was evil and left a note that i was leaving him um i'm a very um we i was scared that if i hadn't left that way i wasn't going to leave him and when he nothing wrong with him it's just uh i was going to work i was taking care of our uh two-year-old at the time he wasn't going to work and um when i came home from my vacation my house was trashed And that was my last straw. And so that's how he found out I was divorcing him.

02:44:42 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 2:

Wow. So when you took everything, did you take everything, including like being petty and take like his underwear and stuff like that?

02:44:51 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

I took all of my son's stuff. I took all the stuff for me. I left our marital bag.

02:45:00 - 02:45:18 | Speaker 2:

I left our couch. I left his TV. So I just took stuff that was like my stuff, like my clothes and my son's stuff, and I left some dishes for him, but like stuff that's like my great-grandparents.

02:45:18 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 5:

Did you leave dishes for him, but they were the dishes that were in the sink from the night before?

02:45:23 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 2:

Yes, those two.

02:45:26 - 02:45:30 | Speaker 5:

The house just was ravaged. It looked like somebody came in and robbed you.

02:45:31 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 2:

It was, it was bad. It, I, he was like, oh, I can't go on the family vacation with you because I have to work. And then, um, when I came home after a week, I found out he wasn't going to work and the house was trash. And I was like, listen, you could have at least cleaned up the house before I got home. You knew when I flew in.

02:45:51 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 5:

You know what you needed to do? Cancel all the utilities. like call call dte call xfinity you know call all of them and just have everything canceled on it so

02:46:04 - 02:46:26 | Speaker 2:

it's just one big you know we're out of here type thing no no that was about uh my son's four now so that was about two years ago but yeah you're in a better place now from a letter huh i hope you're in a better place now oh i am me and him are actually we are better friends so like I had explained to him after.

02:46:26 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 5:

He's still friends with you after you did that to him?

02:46:28 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry that this is how I went about it. I said, you're a sexy guy. I just need someone to help support me with the marriage, and I didn't want to raise two kids when one is old enough. Hold on.

02:46:43 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 5:

I've got to say something. I'm using the Wi-Fi from the identity source next door right now. The building next door that's there, I just got on their guest Wi-Fi, so I'm using their Wi-Fi right now. Thank you, Rick Letterman. I appreciate it. We don't have Wi-Fi in our building right now because of this. What's up? How you doing? Baby Leg Jay. Oh, man. Our Mojo in the Morning Misfit.

02:47:03 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 1:

Hey, hey. What's going on with you guys?

02:47:06 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 5:

Turn the radio off so that you don't confuse me. What's going on?

02:47:10 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, me and my ex, we got into it. I told her to leave. It was my apartment. Make a long story short, she left me with my 53-inch, my Lazy Boy, at my PlayStation.

02:47:23 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 3:

Was that like your best night ever? Sounds like you were kind of happy. Yes, it was.

02:47:29 - 02:47:36 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was. I was at peace. I ordered takeout. I kicked my shoes off. I smoked me a blunt, and I was at peace.

02:47:38 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 5:

So it's not all so bad. It's Mojo in the morning. I feel like I got to meet this barber of yours, because your barber is one of those guys, Kev, that he comes with good topics.

02:47:49 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 4:

Bro, he is a legend. Shout out to Daryl Exposed Barbershop. That's the boy right there. um how do i want to go about this so it's always a fun time in the barber chair and it's even better when he starts to tell me about what's going on in his life and yesterday i got a fresh cup for the game and we're having a conversation and he starts to tell me about his rules for a relationship and what a female will do that will immediately cause for him to say we're not going to be together anymore or i'm gonna stop seeing you he said one of those rules is his girl cannot be friends with his female friends that's one he she definitely can't befriend one of his guy's girlfriends he doesn't want one of his guy's girlfriends to be friends with his girl why red flag why is it a red flag why wouldn't you want the girl you're dating to be friends with your friends one of the major reasons that he said that is because what ends up happening is our drama becomes their drama and now when you're going outside of our relationship to have conversations with my friends now I have to hear about our drama with my friends when I just want to have friends I don't want to have my friends be well what's going on with our girl I heard this I heard that I just want my friends to be my friends so stay on me this side and let them

02:49:13 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 3:

stay on that side but couldn't you just ask her to keep what like the conflict that's happening

02:49:18 - 02:49:24 | Speaker 4:

between the two of of you between the two of you i mean you've been in relationships it doesn't

02:49:24 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 3:

always work out that way right but i've also learned my lesson in like yeah there are some things that i'll confide in my friends in but i also know that there's a line because i want them to like my you know my my partner and not create opinions when i'm in the the thick of a storm with

02:49:39 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 4:

that person so he's not even allowing it to get that far so where the relationship is worth being at that moment so he said he went out with a girl and he already like he says i already laid the groundwork already laid the foundation this is what i expect don't be friends with da da da da

02:49:53 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 3:

i would already not want to date your friend because you are not going to tell me who i can't

02:49:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

be friends with so he goes out

02:49:59 - 02:50:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

02:50:00 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 5:

i don't know if they went bowling or somewhere let's just say bowling they went bowling and he met his boy and his girlfriend was there and he saw the girl that he brought talking to his friend's girlfriend and he said he could tell like they were it wasn't like a normal like he's not saying sit in the corner and don't have a conversation with them but like exchanging numbers and all of that he said that's not necessary like definitely be friends and be he said he didn't say anything when he saw them talking but when they got back to his place he They had a conversation. She was like, so y'all exchanged numbers, didn't y'all? She was like, yeah. He was like, okay, it's time to go. And that was it? And that was it.

02:50:38 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 6:

That's weird. Can I just ask, does he have a lot of stuff that goes on at home that's drama that he doesn't want his buddies knowing about?

02:50:51 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I'm not in his life like that. I mean, I think he has an average level of drama. Okay.

02:50:56 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 6:

Okay, because I think sometimes this might not be a bad idea, though, because then- Listen. Because I always hate when people know your business before you know your business, too, especially if the girls are talking.

02:51:08 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 5:

And that, ladies, can we be honest? If it's problems in a relationship, y'all go run to y'all girls and y'all talk about it.

02:51:14 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's why I'm saying I learned my lesson with that, because that is not helpful.

02:51:18 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 1:

And I think there's, like, general bitching that is, like, a surface level, we can all relate to this, right? Yes. Because the down and dirty, here are the explicit details of what's going on and why I'm angry, I think is off of the table. But then to me, it's like, so you want to invite me over to, say it's a house party or bowling or whatever it is. And now I can go, but I can't connect with anybody or have a good time because I'm not allowed to build relationships with anybody that's important to you is a weird red flag to me.

02:51:49 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 5:

You brought up two very beautiful levels. As a man, both of those levels suck. I don't care about the down and dirty conversations you're having. I don't want you to have those. And I damn sure don't want you to have just those little bitchy conversations. Because what's little and bitchy to you and insignificant is a headache when I get home to even have to hear about that. If I have a, my friends are my safe space. I'm not in a relationship with my friends. We have good friend conversations. It's a fun area. If that has to turn into, well, I heard what you and Sherelle, like, no, bro, what are we doing?

02:52:23 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 6:

All right, question. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 anybody else share Kev's Barber's opinion that your girl should not be friends with your buddy's girlfriends and you know outside the relationship friends because that would make it very difficult for like I'm sorry you cannot you guys cannot share phone numbers like what is what does she do babysitter does he tell the buddies of his girlfriends uh hey you can't ask for the phone number or something like that i would think

02:52:59 - 02:53:17 | Speaker 2:

something was suspicious if that was the case to me i would get fearful that then he would be like like monitoring everybody that i'm hanging out with you know what i mean because of course i'm gonna go talk to my friends about like my friends that i had in the relationship before i don't know

02:53:17 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 6:

that's just very messy to me you can't be friends with them what's going on it's mojo in the morning

02:53:21 - 02:53:49 | Speaker 4:

jessica hi holy crap is this real life right now yes yeah kevin if you go back to that barber i swear to god i will cancel you why wait you can't come on i can't even get my hair cut this is the most misogynistic unrealistic thing i've ever heard in my entire life Well, I had to call because I was screaming at my radio.

02:53:49 - 02:53:54 | Speaker 6:

So what do you think about the mixing business with pleasure?

02:53:56 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 4:

It's not business with pleasure. It's a relationship. If you have any thought of wanting to be in a long-term relationship with this person, then, I mean, you would want their friends to be your friends, and the outcome should everybody be.

02:54:10 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 6:

It is funny because when you get together, you ever notice at a party or when you're hanging out with each other, do you ever notice that couples will all go off in their corners? The guys will go into one area. The girls will go. Guys are usually on the couch. The girls are around the kitchen counter.

02:54:24 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 4:

And that's what friends are for.

02:54:25 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 6:

And then you guys gossip about each other the entire time. Yeah. What's up? Mojo in the morning. Hi. What's going on? Oh, I lost you. What's going on? Mojo in the morning. Hello.

02:54:36 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 3:

Hello. I'm wondering if you're still on the topic of who you can be friends with. Yeah.

02:54:40 - 02:54:42 | Speaker 6:

Yes. We're on it right now.

02:54:42 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 3:

we're knee deep in it. What's going on? Okay. All I have to say to Kevin is, do you want to be your person's father or boyfriend? Because when it turns into you telling her what she can and cannot do, then you turn into a father figure. Guess what? wants to have sex with their dad oh okay they want to call you dad now now you now now it gets

02:55:06 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 4:

weird when you say it that way she's not she's not gonna say that well yeah tell telling them

02:55:11 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 3:

telling them what they can and cannot do is definitely acting like you are their parent

02:55:16 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 1:

what's up nina hi um i was just gonna say that i have friends who have broken up with boyfriends for this exact reason like they thought they were getting too close with um their friends or like their friends didn't like uh when they hung out with other friends and i just thought that was

02:55:34 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 3:

weird yeah so so you have had it because they didn't like the idea that everybody was hanging

02:55:41 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 1:

out with each other outside of their relationship yeah like outside or even like when we would hang out as a group they wouldn't like that their girlfriends were coming to like talk to me and when we were like doing uh group activities and stuff too see i always thought that you want

02:55:57 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 3:

everybody to blend together and mix but I also get the idea that he doesn't want his business out there on the streets I think that's all about the girl we're going to call the barber by the way here in a second barber Jim what's his name

02:56:09 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 5:

call him D I don't know

02:56:11 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 3:

barber okay D D the barber D barber instead of D nuts

02:56:15 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 5:

the barber

02:56:16 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 3:

Ahmad are you there yeah we got a guy that is on the phone our first guy caller let's see if he agrees or disagrees with D barber What's going on?

02:56:30 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 4:

I agree with the barber.

02:56:32 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 3:

You agree? So you don't like the idea that...

02:56:34 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't like the idea because I have a wife and I don't like her to have guy friends or exchange numbers or talk about my business with other people before I understand about it and stuff.

02:56:50 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 3:

So you don't...

02:56:51 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 4:

But why not just ask that of her instead of making a demand? It's not like being, it's not being controlling or nothing. They just have to be submissive to you and only you and not other guys.

02:57:01 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 2:

That's controlling. What you just described was controlling. But here's, here's the thing.

02:57:06 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 3:

It's not just the guys. She, he, his, uh, his thing is he doesn't even want his girl being friends with his buddy's girlfriends because he doesn't.

02:57:16 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that, I, okay, that I disagree. Well, that's what we're talking about. No, no, no, but the part, because. No, no, no, no. That's what we're talking about.

02:57:24 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 3:

But he's saying, this guy on the phone is changing it to say he doesn't like his girl to be friends with his guy friends. He doesn't think it's right for them to do that. That's a totally different topic altogether.

02:57:35 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 2:

That's a totally different topic.

02:57:35 - 02:57:39 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, we're calling the barber. We're dialing him up. Did you tell him that we were calling?

02:57:40 - 02:57:41 | Speaker 2:

Your call has been forwarded to voicemail.

02:57:41 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy, maybe he doesn't want to talk.

02:57:43 - 02:57:44 | Speaker 2:

Nah, he wants to talk.

02:57:44 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Hold on. Let's see.

02:57:46 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Your call has been forwarded to voicemail.

02:57:47 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 3:

He's forwarding my call to voicemail.

02:57:49 - 02:57:50 | Unknown:

Hold on.

02:57:51 - 02:58:27 | Speaker 3:

You dial him up. Hold on. Why is he doing that? Oh, here we go. he's calling back what's up d barber what's going on man what's going on Kev's telling your business on the radio you may not want your you to be friends with Kev and I say your real name though so that's why we going with D so so Kev has just told us and clarify this for us if you're dating a girl you don't like your girl getting phone numbers and being friends with the girls that your buddies are dating or married to yeah most definitely why is

02:58:27 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 5:

that because when they when you um intertwine friends like that they promise become your problems and affect your household so let's just say your buddy cheating on on his girl she about to call your girl with them with those problems and now it's gonna be problems with y'all being friends so you just never want to bring outside problems into your household okay so

02:58:50 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 3:

that which by the way is always uh bad when you know that your buddy's cheating and you don't tell your girl about it because that that's a bad one i've learned i've learned that i've learned the hard way i don't keep any secrets from chelsea because they always come back and come back up

02:59:05 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 5:

so uh i was still some type of bro code too you just got to kind of like like hey there's no bro

02:59:13 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 3:

code when you you lose half of your your uh your life do you put these your friends above your

02:59:19 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 5:

partners at all times no it's not putting your friends above partners it's about it's it's about like it's just placeholders you have your friends you have your family and you have your relationship now everybody to me my opinion is everybody together on some level but you have different relationships with each with each partner i mean with each uh place or whatever so i may have loyalties to my friend on a level that I don't have loyalties to my spouse, but I have loyalties to my spouse that I don't have loyalties to my friends. I'm intimate with my spouse. So that's a different relationship than I have with my friends. So, you know, it's just being able to separate the two and not intertwine them all because everybody can't be everything to everybody.

03:00:00 - 03:00:05 | Speaker 3:

Do most of the girls that you're with understand these rules that you have, or have you lost relationships because of this?

03:00:06 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 2:

They always look at it like you being sneaky, but you're just trying to keep the mess down as much as possible.

03:00:13 - 03:00:14 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

03:00:14 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 2:

So, you know, it just levels to everything.

03:00:17 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 3:

All right. Hold on one second. Somebody wants to stick up for you. You may not be able to hear them because you're on my phone and not the radio station phone. What's up, Abel?

03:00:24 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I just wanted to say, the barber's just saying, hey, these are my standards. This is what, you know, if a woman said, I'll have standards and this and this and this, everybody would be cheering. But because he states his standards, oh, he, I mean, he.

03:00:39 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. I totally disagree with you. There is a difference between standards and demands.

03:00:44 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 3:

She sounds exactly like you just said.

03:00:47 - 03:01:30 | Speaker 4:

There is a difference between standards and boundaries and demands. I think one of the big differences here with Dee is like, if it was not, I'm going to defend my dude from cheating right and it was just other stuff i would say well why wouldn't you just have the conversation don't talk about our business yes because i i think that's a big problem is if i'm not getting along with your friends significant others that reflects negatively towards me and i'm not going to take that on just because you have an insecurity with me having friends but when you say cheating now i feel like that brings a whole other aspect into it now because you're saying there's things i want to hide from my girl so you can't be friends with other girls because i'm hiding things from you and i don't think that's healthy in a relationship no that's not what he

03:01:30 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 2:

said that's not what i'm saying what i'm saying is is not allowing somebody else's issues become your issues because when y'all become friends what happens in y'all y'all bond your own little sisterhood right and but y'all sisterhood has been only a year a few months i may have been friends with my friends since seventh grade and he always going to be my friend he's like a brother to me but what he does doesn't necessarily reflect on our relationship and I just don't want you to have loyalty to her to where it's becoming a problem and it's like yo that's what he does that's not what I do but I just think I leave his house. So find an emotionally

03:02:05 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 5:

mature woman to date and you don't have to make this crazy rule. As my

03:02:10 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 3:

dad said you can pick your friends you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose You ain't gotta laugh at that bro. Come on By the way, hey, real quick, real quick. I've always wanted to hang out at a barbershop with a bunch of guys that are cool like you and Kevin. Can I just come?

03:02:30 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 2:

That means he want to come to a black barbershop. Can I come to a black barbershop?

03:02:33 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 3:

I go to Sixth Salon and hang out with Katrina. I get more stuff for our show. I want to hang out with you, too.

03:02:39 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 2:

Come through. Yeah, come on down, man. You're going to get more than you're working for.

03:02:44 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to bring Shannon and Megan and that guy that just did an imitation of them, too, just a second ago. Virtual in the Morning's Top Trending Stories. The Top Trending Stories of the day. We're going to do trending news here. I'm not going to do Second Date Update this morning just because I don't have enough time. Listen to the podcast of the Second Date Update, though. If you did miss it earlier this morning, you can get that up on the iHeartRadio app. Zach's already got it up there.

03:03:12 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 5:

That guy was a character, man. Oh, my God. She's just great, you guys. She's great. Count how many times he said it. Play a drinking game with yourself. So great.

03:03:24 - 03:04:45 | Speaker 3:

Everything was great but the date. Let's put it that way. All right. So here you go. Top trending stories of the day. Let me tell you guys. I got some crazy ones for you. Are you a beer drinker, a wine drinker, or a liquor drinker? What are you drinking these days? And which one is actually worse for you? We got the answers right now. researchers compared the diets of 1,900 U.S. alcohol drinkers, and they found beer drinkers have it worse than those that drink wine and liquor. They said that beer is definitely not healthier for you, and the reason it's not healthier for you is not necessarily because of what you're drinking. The reason it's not healthier for you is because of what you eat after you are drinking they say that beer drinkers are more likely to overindulge in foods that are not healthy and they said that those that drink wines and those that drink liquor bourbon whiskey vodka those guys are a little bit more conscious of what they're eating while they're drinking which is an interesting uh thought that uh if you you know how they always call it a beer belly and you always thought it was from the beer yeah it's not actually from the beer it's probably from what you're putting down, the wings and the pizza and all the rest of that stuff.

03:04:47 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 5:

It's so funny to me though, I'm not a big beer drinker at all, but if I do have all beer, my stomach feels so full that I'm usually not hungry. Oh, absolutely.

03:05:00 - 03:05:07 | Speaker 2:

That's absolutely not the case for me. Really? No. Give me some wings. Give me a burger. Give me all of the unhealthy. Fries. Give me fries.

03:05:08 - 03:05:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, fries go with everything, though, too.

03:05:09 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Megan, you do not be eating like that.

03:05:12 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 3:

Megan's not eating like that anymore. Megan's no more fun to eat with. She used to be fun to go out and have fun with. Now she's no fun. She just sits there and is quiet and doesn't say anything. The other night, I was like, oh, my gosh.

03:05:26 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm sad, okay? I'm sad. I miss it too you guys I don't think this is The fun version of me It's the only version of me Guys will hit on I don't like it

03:05:35 - 03:05:38 | Speaker 3:

Don't do this Please tell me You're not doing this For guys

03:05:38 - 03:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Oh absolutely not

03:05:39 - 03:05:40 | Speaker 3:

You better not be

03:05:40 - 03:05:45 | Speaker 2:

You think I care About a man's opinion I'm sorry In what world Have I ever Given that impression Plus we know

03:05:45 - 03:05:47 | Speaker 1:

She's doing it For the ladies That's right

03:05:47 - 03:05:52 | Speaker 3:

Well let me also Say this to you though Seriously My sister Pat Gave you the greatest compliment

03:05:52 - 03:05:53 | Speaker 2:

I know I love her

03:05:53 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 3:

And she said this to me Yesterday when she told me The story about How she dislocated Her jaw yawning I hate to laugh at that, but she said, she goes, Megan is always beautiful. Her face is the most beautiful face I've ever seen. That's what she said.

03:06:09 - 03:06:15 | Speaker 2:

That's so sweet. That's so sweet. And I could, let me tell you, I could use some cookies today.

03:06:15 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, all right. Let's get some cookies. Sometimes you got to have a cookie day. Which is worse, a bad relationship or being single? Oh, a bad relationship.

03:06:25 - 03:06:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:06:25 - 03:06:46 | Speaker 3:

A new study investigated how relationship status affects emotional well-being. And on average, people in relationships had a higher satisfaction than singles. Singles, even involuntary ones, had higher life satisfaction than people in bad relationships.

03:06:46 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 1:

What was the age demographic of that? Does it say?

03:06:49 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 3:

It says between 18 and 44 years old.

03:06:52 - 03:06:53 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that surprises me so much.

03:06:54 - 03:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:06:54 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 1:

Because I feel like for older people, that would make sense to me because they're like, oh, I've already put in this much time or I don't have that much time left. Like, I don't want to start again. But for younger people, that blows my mind a little bit.

03:07:07 - 03:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, if I heard you right, if you're in a relationship, it's better than being single. But being single is better than a bad relationship. Yeah. Yeah. For sure.

03:07:15 - 03:08:27 | Speaker 3:

Did you guys hear the story about the mom that got jailed for letting her 10-year-old walk alone to town? Police arrested a mother in Georgia after an 11-year-old son walked less than one mile into town away from his house. Brittany Patterson, the mother of four, was handcuffed. It happened while she was having dinner in her home. She was fingerprinting and taken to the police station. A female police officer reportedly found her son, Soren, strolling in downtown Mineral Bluff, Georgia, without an adult. Patterson initially thought that her son was playing in the woods when he was not home. And then they found out that the 11-year-old was actually walking into town. The female officer brought this mom or brought the kid to grandfather's house while they took the mom in for a booking. the police say that there is a safety plan and the one safety plan is that your kids cannot be walking especially along a road that could be a road where they can get themselves into trouble and then ended up arresting the mom and called up CPS for that

03:08:27 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 1:

that's crazy to me

03:08:29 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 3:

the officer by the way said that there's a high crime in that area and they worried about that

03:08:36 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 1:

so is there a known curfew or something Is there a known rule?

03:08:41 - 03:08:49 | Speaker 3:

I think it honestly may be just a factor of the kids not being safe, like walking along the side of the road at that time.

03:08:49 - 03:08:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:08:50 - 03:08:56 | Speaker 3:

It's kind of a wild story. That's in Georgia where that took place. I thought in Georgia, it was like kids took care of themselves and stuff.

03:08:56 - 03:09:15 | Speaker 1:

And I know, but I feel like 11 years old, 11 years old is around that age. It's like, I'm a crazy person about Lucy. I just like to go to the park by herself for the first time this summer. But I do like a lot of my friends have kids that they will let like walk into town or like walk up probably a mile or ride their scooters or whatever to the gas station to get candy and a Slurpee.

03:09:16 - 03:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:09:16 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 1:

You know, and they don't think anything of that.

03:09:19 - 03:09:24 | Speaker 3:

I'd worry about the store if Lucy was going in there by herself. Like I would worry. She would negotiate.

03:09:24 - 03:09:25 | Speaker 1:

I don't let her.

03:09:25 - 03:10:07 | Speaker 3:

She would negotiate deals like upon deals. She's like, that kid, by the way, is your mini me. I'm telling you, it's wild. Like, I know that you guys, you talked about her costume for Halloween being an influencer and stuff. Yeah. That kid is, I don't know what she's going to do in her life. She'll probably be a doctor or a lawyer or something, like, really smart, unlike her mother, who's in radio. You know, what the heck happened? But she could be an influencer now. Actually, she could be a salesperson at this radio station and probably be one of our top billers. Did you guys hear the story about the man who was found dead in a tanning bed three days after going to the gym? A dozen people coming into this Planet Fitness on Tuesday, just one day after a man was found dead inside of a tanning bed.

03:10:07 - 03:10:13 | Speaker 2:

Nobody ever thinks you're going to go to a gym on a Monday morning and, you know, potentially be in the same building as a dead body.

03:10:14 - 03:10:20 | Speaker 3:

Elizabeth Lynn says her Monday morning workout started like any other day, until she noticed a foul smell.

03:10:21 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 2:

And I was kind of like sniffing, trying not to look crazy, but I was like, something smells really awful here.

03:10:26 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 3:

That smell coming from one of the tanning bedrooms, where 39-year-old Derek Sink was found dead.

03:10:32 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 2:

The first thing that kind of went off in my head was, you know, lack of attention from the staff members at Planet Fitness, which is pretty disappointing because maybe it could have been prevented.

03:10:42 - 03:11:10 | Speaker 3:

Sink's family tells 13 News he went into a tanning bed at the gym on Friday, but wasn't found until Monday morning. They say he struggled with drugs, and a needle was found in the room with him. At the Planet Fitness, male unconscious, in the tanning room, he is not breathing. His aunt says they reported him missing Friday, and he was wearing an ankle monitor, which helped police find him. During the three days sink was considered missing, the gym remained open.

03:11:10 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 2:

And the tanning bed has a door, I believe. But still, like, why are we not concerned that the door has been closed for three days in a row, potentially? Right.

03:11:19 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 3:

I asked that question to the Planet Fitness staff Tuesday. and when i went inside i was told no comment a spokesperson from the corporation tells me they are working with the local franchisee to ensure they are upholding the brand's protocols and i've also asked what is their policy for checking the tanning rooms but have not received a response

03:11:38 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 6:

the planet fitness talked to us about this the uh the people uh from there uh and they updated this story that planet fitness says that the particular owner of that indiana location uh so not a location here in town, broke complete protocol that the workers did not go check up on everything and even keep the areas clean.

03:12:00 - 03:12:05 | Speaker 1:

If you report somebody missing and they're wearing an ankle monitor, how is that not instant that you know exactly where they are?

03:12:05 - 03:12:17 | Speaker 6:

That scares me. I wonder if it didn't work or something because they were inside. That scares me. Which, by the way, I don't know. That's interesting. And last story here. Nearly a quarter of us have already started Christmas shopping.

03:12:17 - 03:12:20 | Speaker 1:

I'm almost done. What? Yeah, I'm almost done.

03:12:20 - 03:12:55 | Speaker 6:

24% of respondents had already started their Christmas shopping as of the beginning of this month. And many of them say that they expect that they will be completely done by the end of next week. Those that say that they get their Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving, it's actually not a small number. It's a pretty huge number, about 30%. This is interesting though. Those that don't get it done by thanksgiving don't start until after december they wait till after december god i can't believe that but it doesn't surprise me that you're almost done i just don't like to

03:12:55 - 03:13:04 | Speaker 1:

be like stressed i like to have a good chunk of it done so i can still buy some fun things in december but after thanksgiving don't you guys feel like time it goes at crazy speed

03:13:04 - 03:13:15 | Speaker 6:

and i don't like to have that on in my brain so to me honestly i'd like going out on uh christmas eve i think that's like the oh my god i would have so much anxiety you don't like that

03:13:15 - 03:13:15 | Speaker 1:

No.

03:13:15 - 03:13:52 | Speaker 6:

You're insane. Oh, it's the best. Christmas Eve shopping was the greatest. My dad used to take us to Chi-Chi's. He would get drunk on margaritas. We would drive him home.
