Hey everyone, it's the Jonas Brothers. This week on the podcast, Hey Jonas, we're hanging out with Michael Buble. After Kevin's recent interesting confession about Michael, we figured there's only one thing to do. We must invite Michael Buble on the podcast and we want to know what's on his sexy time playlist. You know, I did an interview and they're like, have you heard about this Jonas Brothers thing? And they're like, what did you think of it? I was like, well, I mean, it's reciprocal. We talk about Kevin's confession, Michael's reaction, and a whole lot more. Our conversation with Michael Buble is out now. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:02:27 - 00:02:57 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:02:57 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 3:

good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show coming up in less than an hour from now a girlfriend thinks that her boyfriend is cheating or quite possibly back to dealing drugs because he's now come into a bunch of cash that he didn't have before and he hasn't been working. She then saw that he's got a Venmo or he's got some Venmos from a particular person that it looks like it's a female. This morning on the Mojo in the Morning Show, we do a three-way call, where are the roses? She was able to get the phone number off that Venmo and we will do a War of the Roses at 7 o'clock, okay? So right after the 5 at 6.55, be listening, War of the Roses. Make sure that you check that out. You know how they say no good deed goes unpunished? Yes. It went punished today.

00:04:06 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 2:

What happened?

00:04:07 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

I was trying to do dishes from last night and other stuff that was in the sink just so that Chelsea could wake up this morning and think that I am the greatest husband in the world. So I was doing those. I ended up, and this is, by the way, as the warm-up show is beginning, so I usually am out of the house by, like, once the warm-up show starts. So, 5 o'clock, you know, boom, warm-up show's on, I'm out. I dropped the glass, literally one of the biggest glasses that we've ever had in our house. It's a glass glass. Like, it goes all over the place. And I'm like, son of a bitch. And now I got to figure out where a vacuum is, where a broom is, all this stuff, because I don't know if you know this. I may be the greatest husband in the world, but I don't think I've ever grabbed the vacuum or the broom at five o'clock in the morning. And so I have to crank that thing up, you know, turn it.

00:05:00 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 4:

on. Chelsea comes running. What's going on? She doesn't think a burglar, actually she probably did think a burglar was in the house. She's like, there's no way that he's cleaning. A burglar must be in the house to clean. That's the kind of burglar I want. I'll marry that burglar. Yeah, exactly. So I cut myself. Usually guys cut themselves from shaving and stuff. A glass cut? Yeah. Well, I didn't even realize, and I have a totally different outfit on that I was wearing because I'm cleaning. I'm trying to get it all done because I'm trying to get out of the house in a couple minutes. And then I'm doing this thing on the floor. I'm looking on the floor going, is there a piece?

00:05:34 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't want the dogs to step on it. Yeah, I'm like freaking out. He didn't care about the dogs. No.

00:05:38 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 4:

I was caring about my dog. You know, I was caring because this dog ain't going to get anything from that dog. We ain't getting any kind of stuff if she ends up cutting her foot and stuff. I was worried about the dogs. Seriously. But, you know, you do the whole thing. And then you go into the bathroom. And I'm like, all right. I'm sweating profusely. I'm like, all right, whatever. I'm going to, and I look, blood all over, yeah, so I got a shirt full of blood, it's crazy, I'm a hero, by the way.

00:06:04 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 2:

And don't you feel bad when there are people sleeping, you're a hero, when there are people sleeping in your house, and you're getting ready at four in the morning, and something like that happens, and you have to break up the vacuum?

00:06:13 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's the worst, I've never had that happen to me before, like I never have, I've given them.

00:06:19 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 2:

I had to turn the garbage disposal on this morning, and I was, crap, I'm sorry, but like I have to, or else it's going to smell.

00:06:25 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 4:

It's bad And then I've done that before I've turned the garbage disposal on And then I've gotten the Can you not turn the garbage disposal I'm like I'm trying to do it I'm not doing it because I want to You know what I mean I've had the opposite happen

00:06:38 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah Like where Sherelle been mad at me before And she used to pay attention And try to walk softly You can tell when you're in a doghouse Door starts slamming a little louder Lights get flicked on Like come on man You've never done this before We're not gonna let you sleep You know like sometimes you'll lose something or you'll try to find something early in the morning and to prevent having to wake people up you won't cut the light on so you use your phone light that's when you know they're pissed when they're not using phone lights they're just cutting on all the room lights

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

they're turning it on by the way is that that is something that is a very female thing like I don't see guys do that

00:07:15 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 1:

what are you talking about

00:07:17 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Megan I know guys I don't know if you know this but I don't know I don't know many guys that they get pissed off at their girl and they because you know why we want to get out of the house

00:07:29 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

unscathed facts and i'm not trying to engage in whatever type of rage you're experiencing right now the way our bedroom is set up there's like a closet and then there's like the bathroom so to prevent cutting on the light that's nearest to the closet i'll cut on the bathroom light and crack that almost close the door so i can only allow just the light that i need to pick my clothes

00:07:50 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

So I won't wake anybody up and piss anybody up The struggle

00:07:53 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 4:

That actually is kind of an interesting topic How do you know when your spouse is pissed You know when they're pissed When they wake you up with all the noise And loud stuff in the morning Throwing Banging cabinets What's going on right now Can I ask an honest question When you're pissed off Don't you seem to walk a little Like harder on your feet Like you're

00:08:18 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 2:

that's so funny that we're even having this conversation Wes and I got into like a little argument yesterday and he's like oh here comes the elephant walk because I do I stop my feet so bad on purpose

00:08:32 - 00:08:58 | Speaker 4:

844 Mojo Live 844-665 6548 I want to know from our listeners this morning first off like what is it what's your thing to try to not wake up the house because if you're up right now listening to us more than likely you're a person that you know has to do like I always thought that I could never be in the military because I'm just not physically fit until four o'clock in the morning when I wake

00:08:58 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 3:

up and I'm like covertly on the clock you know what I mean yeah makes it impossible to go through

00:09:03 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 4:

the rant like dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun are you really quiet for I mean you don't want to wake

00:09:10 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 2:

up the kids obviously right but are you really so hard with Wes because our bathroom is like I walk into my bathroom and it's right on the side of the bed where he sleeps and so if i have to like blow dry my hair or there's no getting past that yeah you know what i mean wait you blow dry your

00:09:26 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 4:

hair in the morning yes when i take a shower stuff i do please tell me megan you don't do this you

00:09:31 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 1:

live in an apartment where there's people probably trying to well i don't normally blow dry my hair in the morning i would never get up a minute earlier than i have to i am a shower girl oh well no because even then i was like sometimes i shower in the morning if i sleep in fake tan but i'm not washing my hair i'm wearing a shower cap but i but i also live alone so like i'm not

00:09:51 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

bothering anybody yeah i sweat really bad when i sleep um welcome to your early 40s um and all that comes with it and so i i usually

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 7:

four out of the five days of the week I shower in the morning and I have to wash my hair because it's wet. It's sweaty.

00:10:06 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 4:

What about KP? KP, you live in an apartment. Please tell me for the sake of your neighbors, you're not turning on the freaking blow dryer this early in the morning while you're getting ready to go to work, are you?

00:10:19 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 3:

She's taking a breath.

00:10:21 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, are you serious?

00:10:23 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, you are crazy. You could have said

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 4:

she just wasn't here right now. Or you could have said she's blow drying her hair.

00:10:30 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 6:

But, like, we also don't hear our neighbors at most apartments. Like, you don't hear your neighbor's television, so my blow dryer isn't going to bother you.

00:10:38 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you don't think that your neighbors can hear you?

00:10:41 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:10:42 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

You don't hear them at all? Never.

00:10:44 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 7:

My blow dryer is actually not super loud. I mean, it's still a blow dryer, but it's not like they used to be.

00:10:49 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 6:

The only thing I hear ever in my apartment, ever, ever, ever, is the stomping of the person above me at night.

00:10:54 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 4:

That's it?

00:10:55 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 6:

That's it.

00:10:56 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

Because I'm going to say this to you. That's it. You live in a Detroit downtown apartment that was built probably in 1920 or something like that. So that's a good one. The newer ones probably are not like that. KP, you don't blow dry in the morning before work, do you?

00:11:08 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

No, but I did hear Lydia spreading rumors about me. I was not taking a crap. Oh, really? I was just going number one.

00:11:17 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Anyway. Make the duty.

00:11:19 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't blow dry my hair in the morning. I don't think my roommates or not even roommates. What is it called? House neighbors? Neighbors, yeah.

00:11:26 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

I don't think anybody can hear me. What are they called?

00:11:28 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I don't think they can hear me I can't hear them

00:11:34 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 4:

It's amazing that you guys can't hear them because I swear to you, when I live in an apartment that's all I did was hear my neighbors

00:11:40 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 5:

When was the last time you lived in an apartment?

00:11:42 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Well, first off, I stay with Joe in Tampa and his place all I do is hear the lady above I mean, that lady's like first off, she's like banging herself or something up there. It's like craziness Christina, what's going on?

00:11:57 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 8:

Good morning.

00:11:58 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's happening?

00:12:00 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I was just calling in about my tell when I'm pissed off. So I do like a version of the silent treatment where I huff and puff loudly just so my presence is known, I think. Like I just walk around the house.

00:12:12 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

So just a lot of heavy breathing, huh?

00:12:15 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I think I just want them to like know I'm there and be reminded I'm mad without having to talk to them or something. I don't know.

00:12:20 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 4:

By the way, when you do it and they don't know it, do you do it extra loud then the next time?

00:12:26 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I think I escalate as I go.

00:12:29 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay, yeah, that is a thing. Do you do the elephant walk like Wes says that Shannon does?

00:12:35 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 8:

Not intentionally, but probably.

00:12:37 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that is, by the way, that is a very, because I don't think guys do that. I'm telling you, I don't think guys do any of this stuff, not because we're better people. We don't want fights. Us guys, we try to avoid them. We try to avoid any kind of confrontation that we possibly can ever get ourselves into.

00:12:54 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 3:

And if I see you breathing hard on purpose, I'm going to type A-Hole and be like, are you okay? Would you like mine, Haley? You seem to be a little out of breath. Does your guy ever do that to you?

00:13:04 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 8:

No.

00:13:06 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

Hopefully he's not listening to the show.

00:13:08 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 8:

No, which is why we've been married for 15 years. I thank you. Okay, you pause and lie.

00:13:14 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Hey, by the way, when you wake up early in the morning and he's laying in bed and you have to blow dry your hair, do you wake his ass up with the blow dryer?

00:13:22 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 8:

I don't blow dry my hair, but he does joke around that he's like a ninja in the morning and he swears that I just walk around slamming things and turning lights on. But I really don't.

00:13:31 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, he's the perfect husband. That's hence 15 years of marriage, right?

00:13:36 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 8:

Yes.

00:13:37 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 4:

All right. Take care of yourself. Have a great day. Have a good one. All right. We'll see you. I want to go to Megan and KP's apartments because I guarantee you, if I walked around and said, hi, have you ever heard 1425? They would all go, that loud bitch. I'm telling you. That loud bitch with a gray arm.

00:13:58 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 5:

That's so funny because I listen to music on my headphones in my apartment, so I don't cause any noise. Really? I'm probably, out of all of you, the most considerate neighbor, although all of you are rude a-holes for no reason.

00:14:13 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm sure they hear me and Bubba in my apartment, so it's fine.

00:14:17 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 4:

00:17:15 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Yeah. 1991. There you go.

00:17:18 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 4:

00:17:22 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 1:

00:18:00 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:02 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Shannon, I saw this news yesterday and it bummed me out.

00:18:04 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 5:

We talked about it. I think – did we talk about it briefly at the end of the show? I couldn't remember, but I just wanted to bring it back up because we love him. And I feel like everybody grew up watching Full House. But just a couple of weeks ago, Full House star and Michigan native Dave Coulier was experiencing an upper respiratory infection that caused his lymph nodes to swell. And then a lymph node in his groin just started to grow and grow and grow. It got to the size of a golf ball. So, of course, he went to the doctor, had a biopsy. Further tests revealed cancer, specifically stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Yesterday, Dave was talking about his diagnosis.

00:18:43 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 3:

In that time, I've had three surgeries. I've had chemo. I've lost a little bit of hair. I kind of look like a little baby bird now. But it has been a rollercoaster ride, for sure.

00:18:55 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 4:

And he still showed up at the Novi Expo Center last weekend and was signing autographs for everybody.

00:19:00 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 5:

From St. Clair Shores, by the way, if you weren't aware. But the good news, thankfully, the cancer has not spread to his bone marrow. And once you learn that, his chances of being cured went from something really, really low to like in the mid 90% range. He said he began chemo within two weeks of the diagnosis. He's now completed. You heard him say the first of six treatments should wrap up the last in February.

00:19:25 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 4:

I still am like blown away that Bob Saget's dead. Like it's still so sad. You know, he was all these guys, everybody from Full House all loved going and doing radio. And Saget and Coulier and even John Stamos, they would do interviews all the time with radio. And they loved it so much. And I always thought that Dave would have been a great radio person in Detroit while he was kind of retired. I thought it would be kind of good one of the radio stations to hire him.

00:19:53 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he still should.

00:19:54 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:19:54 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 5:

A fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers was expecting a word. World Series championship shirt that was autographed by all of his favorite players. Well, that is not exactly what he got. Did you guys hear this story? No. Is this the Fanatics thing? Yes. And I love buying stuff from Fanatics. I feel like they have really cute women's gear on there. But the autographs from the Dodgers players on one of the championship shirts that Dodgers fans could buy on Fanatics was actually signatures from the 2023 Texas Rangers championship. That's crazy. So if you bought that shirt randomly, Fanatics is making it up to you by giving you another shirt and a 20% discount on your entire order. That's great. So good. So fun. Whoopi Goldberg celebrated her 69th birthday on The View yesterday and things took quite the turn while she was promoting some of her favorite things, specifically a giant wheel of cheese with her face on it. She noted that she had always wanted her face printed on a wheel of cheese.

00:20:58 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 4:

I always wanted my face on cheese. Yeah. I like to be eaten from time to time.

00:21:04 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 2:

Whoopi.

00:21:08 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 5:

Sarah Haynes actually walked off the set. She could not. Sarah Haynes is the best. I love her too. And lastly, Finance Buzz just did a survey on how to gauge how much shoppers in each state can expect to pay on average for your Thanksgiving turkey. The most expensive state when it comes to turkeys, Hawaii. A bird there runs $52.85 for a 15-pounder. Alaska coming in second, California in third. Michigan and Ohio actually both land on the 10 least expensive turkey states. In Ohio, a 15-pound turkey on average will cost you about $23. In Michigan, about $25.35. since the cheapest state to buy a turkey in is Oklahoma. Under $20.

00:21:56 - 00:22:11 | Speaker 3:

I actually saw that turkeys will be abundant this year, and I also saw that they'll be smaller, though. That's the one thing. So they said that getting the big fat birds are not going to be as abundant. You're going to have to get a couple of birds if you've got a big family.

00:22:11 - 00:22:15 | Speaker 4:

Does that mean they're killing them younger, or are they not filling them up with all the steroids?

00:22:15 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's a good question. You know what? I don't know. They're probably still filling them with steroids, but I don't know.

00:22:20 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 5:

What you're going to see is a lot of the bigger name stores selling turkeys for dirt, dirt, dirt cheap because they want you to go to their store to buy all the rest of the stuff when you buy a turkey.

00:22:30 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I would. I was in Big Turkey.

00:22:34 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 1:

00:23:12 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 5:

I just want to mark the moment.

00:23:14 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 3:

All right, then let's play a song or something. What do you want to do?

00:23:15 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm just noting that it's 6.54.

00:23:19 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 3:

Whoa. So, you know what? I got a minute to tell you guys a little bit more about the boring thing I ate last night. Mac and cheese and chicken. That was my... That don't sound boring. That was my meal. That was it.

00:23:32 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 5:

Where did it come from?

00:23:33 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Made it ourselves. Okay. Yeah. So...

00:23:36 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 5:

You guys, I actually cooked like a normal human being last night. Made pot roast. And I'm still here. Man. My house is still up. Wow.

00:23:44 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 3:

That's actually... That's an accomplishment.

00:23:45 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 5:

Kitchen intact.

00:23:46 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 3:

Give her an applause for that. Y'all acting different.

00:23:49 - 00:23:51 | Speaker 2:

Are we just talking about cooking then?

00:23:51 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 3:

By Jordan DoorDash?

00:23:52 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 2:

No, I've been failing at popovers. So if anybody has any tips for me to make popovers, I'm listening.

00:23:58 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 5:

Buy him from the store. Popovers.

00:24:01 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 2:

The type of dinner roll I'm practicing for Thanksgiving.

00:24:03 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're going all out. She is really into this Thanksgiving dinner, by the way. This is going to be like, you're Martha Stewart now. I'm trying.

00:24:10 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 5:

Have you watched that documentary yet?

00:24:12 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 3:

No, I have not. Please. I have not. Listen, I got a little bit of Menendez hangover from documentaries right now. If I watch the Martha one, I'm going to want her in jail. Kev, what did you watch?

00:24:25 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 4:

What did I watch last night?

00:24:26 - 00:24:27 | Speaker 3:

Or no, what did you eat last night?

00:24:27 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 4:

What did I eat last night? Lentil soup and Spanish rice.

00:24:32 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 3:

And you pull it out of a can or what do you do?

00:24:34 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 4:

In a box? My Progresso can. So I had that. And then, wait, I had two of them boys. So early in the day, I had the jasmine rice with the lentil soup. And at night, I had the Mediterranean-style lentil with the Spanish rice. He got fancy to stop playing with me.

00:24:48 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 3:

Get the toilet paper ready, guys. Hey, real quick. Now we're late with the 5 at 6.55. Aren't we good?

00:24:54 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 2:

We got Samantha on with us right now. Samantha from Lincoln Park. Hi, Samantha. Hi. Olivia, say hi to Samantha. Hi, Samantha. Hi, Olivia. Going to lock you up in a soundproof area now. Here we go. Olivia's gone. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins, Ty always goes to the champion. Samantha, getting ready for this one today. She's taking her kids to school. This NFL star just passed Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas on the Billboard charts thanks to his debut with the iconic... Duet. Or his... Yes. His duet with the iconic Stevie Nicks. Who is he?

00:26:19 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 2:

Pass.

00:26:21 - 00:26:28 | Speaker 1:

Pass? Okay. And by the way, I should say, this former, if that helps you, this former NFL star, just so that people don't get me wrong on that one.

00:26:29 - 00:26:30 | Speaker 2:

Jason Kilbert?

00:26:30 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 1:

Jason Kilbert. All right, question number two. It's Travis Barker's birthday today. What band is he the drummer for?

00:26:38 - 00:26:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry, can you repeat that?

00:26:39 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 1:

It's Travis Barker's birthday today. What band is he the drummer for?

00:26:45 - 00:26:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Which one I need to?

00:26:48 - 00:26:56 | Speaker 1:

Question number three. Dave Coulier revealed yesterday that he is battling stage 3 cancer. What iconic TV show did he play Uncle Joey on?

00:26:57 - 00:26:58 | Unknown:

Full House.

00:27:00 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 1:

When you say that, it's your way of trying to...

00:27:02 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 2:

I love Full House. Okay. My favorite. Full House.

00:27:06 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 1:

Question number four. Gigi Hadid stopped traffic in New York City this week, literally shooting a campaign for this makeup brand. Which brand is she the face of?

00:27:19 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 2:

Three seconds. Three seconds? Chanticle or Chanticle?

00:27:26 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 1:

In question number five, we talked about this a lot yesterday. John Krasinski was named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024. What was his character's first name on The Office?

00:27:41 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, gosh, I didn't watch the movie like that. I don't know.

00:27:44 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 1:

It's a TV show. Passing that one.

00:27:46 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 2:

I know his face, but.

00:27:47 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 1:

All right. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. I think it's going to be an easy win for you today, Olivia.

00:27:52 - 00:27:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, two out of five, Samantha.

00:27:54 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. Why are the pretty ones always so dumb? All right. Here we go. Question. You only get two. We always do it for two or less. Question number one. This former NFL star just passed Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas on the Billboard charts thanks to his duet with the iconic Stevie Nicks. Who is he?

00:28:15 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

00:28:17 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds.

00:28:19 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 3:

Former NFL star. Three seconds.

00:28:22 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 1:

Go. Three, two, one. Jeez. Your three, two, ones now have gotten... You went from fast to like... Come on. Can you be more like Goldilocks? The five at 6.55 turns into the five at 6.55 all the way through to 7.20. First, I'm going too quick. Now I'm too long. Jason Kelsey. Jason Kelsey. Question number two. It's Travis Barker's birthday today. What band is he the drummer for? 182. Yes, 182. Question number three. Dave Coulier revealed yesterday that he is battling stage three cancer. What iconic TV show did he play Uncle Joey on?

00:28:58 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 3:

Full House. Yes. Two to two.

00:29:01 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 1:

Question four. Gigi Hadid stopped traffic in New York City, literally shooting a campaign for this makeup brand. Which brand is she the face of? Oh, boy.

00:29:12 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 3:

Let's go with Mac.

00:29:14 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 1:

Mac, no. Maybelline.

00:29:17 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 2:

Stays 2-2-2.

00:29:18 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 1:

And you don't need it, but you know what? You got it with a tie, but get a clean win, because this would not be good to have, like, you know, you not make this question, because it's an easy one. We talked about this a lot yesterday. John Krasinski was named People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024. What was John Krasinski's character's first name on The Office? M. You got it. Yeah. Congratulations. Winner. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Congratulations to you. You've just won two in a row. You will be back with us tomorrow morning for another round of the 5 of 6.55. Thank you. And we have a parting gift for... Miss Samantha from Lincoln Park. You're taking the kids to school. What are your kids' names?

00:30:06 - 00:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Malia and Jackson. And where do they go to school?

00:30:10 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 1:

Lincoln Park. Hey, guys. What's happening? Hi. Hi. Mom, we're setting you up with a gift card to Chibo inside the Cambria Hotel in downtown Detroit. Best happy hours ever. Great place to go stay, too, the Cambria Hotel. So congratulations. Awesome.

00:30:28 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

00:30:29 - 00:30:33 | Speaker 1:

Have the best time. Have a great day at school to your kids, and thanks for playing, guys.

00:30:33 - 00:30:42 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Mornings 5 at 6.55. Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:30:42 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 1:

Angel thinks that her boyfriend is cheating. It all involves a potential bit of money that's come your way. Explain this to us.

00:30:53 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 3:

yeah so um you know we were splitting the rent and then he lost his job like eight months ago and so he's pretty much stopped chipping in and then all of a sudden he started paying his half and then he's paid other lesser bills lately too um so yeah i asked him where you know he's getting the money from and he said parlay's um been like hitting on sports betting app so yeah i went so do you not do you not believe that that's how he's getting the money no definitely not i i and yeah i mean so basically i'm not proud of it but i did go through his phone because he has been locked up for drugs before and you know so you so you

00:31:45 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 1:

You started assuming, you started thinking that he was back to his old business.

00:31:51 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. And I just wanted to see if he was doing that again. And I was worried. So, yeah, I went in his phone and I found a bunch of Venmos from a woman named ******. And I don't know what's going on.

00:32:06 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 2:

How much money are we talking about for these Venmos?

00:32:10 - 00:32:18 | Speaker 3:

You know, hundreds of dollars. Each? of, you know, like $400, $500.

00:32:19 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 2:

And do you, like, how long have you been with him? Do you know that this isn't maybe a family member that could be helping out? We've been together for two years.

00:32:29 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

I'll see you guys. Like, when we met s***, and he doesn't really have...

00:32:34 - 00:32:58 | Speaker 1:

Quick question. Yeah. Would you think that maybe he's doing drugs again and he's doing it, and there's a woman that he's doing, he's giving drugs to? or do you think, like, what would be the worst, what would be horrible for you? I'm sure that both would be bad, but would you rather he be back to his old tricks of doing drugs again or something going on between him and this person he's Venmoing back and forth with?

00:32:59 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 3:

I don't want it to be either thing. I mean, yeah, like you said, both things are horrible for him. But, I mean, if I'm being really honest, like, if he's being unfaithful and this is a cheating situation, then that is going to be really painful, and I don't know if our relationship can continue.

00:33:19 - 00:33:36 | Speaker 1:

We've talked before on our show about people who make money through sex and OnlyFans and all that stuff. And a lot of our listeners actually understood why they were doing it. You obviously don't want him dabbling in any of that stuff.

00:33:38 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 3:

No. I mean, also, it's like it would be one thing if he was doing it and we had a conversation about it. But all the sneakiness just makes me think that something is, you know, that he's cheating. And I just, you know, that's going to be a deal breaker for me.

00:33:55 - 00:33:55 | Speaker 2:

Understandably.

00:33:56 - 00:34:00 | Speaker 1:

It's kind of nice, though, getting your bills paid, though, right? And him paying his share.

00:34:03 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but not at that cost.

00:34:05 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 1:

i'd rather just be doing it and not be you know so you'd rather take care of him than have him doing this yeah okay just asking the question let's find out what's going on we're going to call him up uh and uh we're actually gonna uh we got the you got the number of this person that he's been mowing back and forth with and we're going to have them both think that each other is calling when we do a three-way call we dial them both up at the same time mute your phone so he doesn't hear or she doesn't hear another person on the phone line okay all right war of the roses it's a three-way

00:34:46 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 3:

hello hello

00:34:58 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hello?

00:35:03 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Hey.

00:35:06 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Hey, you.

00:35:08 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 2:

I didn't recognize this number. What's up?

00:35:12 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, nothing much. Gonna get my hair and nails done later.

00:35:19 - 00:35:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah? You got plans tonight?

00:35:24 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 3:

No. Gotta look good, you know. I could make plans, though. Want to come by?

00:35:33 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 4:

Um, you know, I can't tonight.

00:35:39 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. Maybe this weekend then? Um, yeah, I'll have to check. Oh, yeah. You're making me work for it, huh? No, no, no, no. I just have a bunch of things going on. You got that money I sent you, right? Yeah, I got it. Well, um, maybe... I'm sorry.

00:36:15 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 4:

What is going on? I'm so f***ing confused right now. Are you f***ing kidding me? Hello? Hello? Hello? This is Angel, Travis's girlfriend. Yeah. Hello? Travis? Hello? Hello? We have some talking to do.

00:36:39 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 1:

Angel, hold it. Angel, if you can, you're supposed to mute your phone.

00:36:43 - 00:36:43 | Speaker 4:

What?

00:36:44 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 1:

Is there somebody still on the phone line?

00:36:47 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm here. I'm here.

00:36:49 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 1:

Angel, quiet. Who is that?

00:36:54 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 3:

Who are you?

00:36:57 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 1:

Who are you?

00:36:57 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 3:

Who are you is the question.

00:37:00 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 1:

Who is this?

00:37:02 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 3:

Who are you?

00:37:03 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 1:

This is the Mojo in the Morning show. And we're a radio show that was trying to find out what's going on with Travis. His girlfriend, Angel, is on the phone with us right now and was thinking that he's cheating on her. Angel, we probably didn't need you jumping on so fast. And I know that it's tough for us to say that when you're listening to your love of your life talking to another person. But we didn't get much out of that or know exactly who the hell that person is and what is going on.

00:37:40 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, but I mean, you heard what they were saying. So obviously something's going on and it's a little hard to, you know, we get that.

00:37:47 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 2:

But we can get a lot more information if you were to stay quiet.

00:37:50 - 00:38:03 | Speaker 1:

and it sounds to me like there's something up with obviously him taking care of her and her sending him money that's obvious

00:38:03 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 2:

she sounds significantly older to me

00:38:05 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 1:

she did sound older Angel I'm going to put you on hold here for one second and we're just going to talk for a second and we're going to try to see if we can get him back on the phone alright hang on the phone

00:38:18 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 3:

When we come back here next

00:38:27 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Is he cheating with her Or is this somebody that he's just getting money for Doing all kinds of fun stuff Your comments A lot of theories A lot of people already getting through to us We want to hear what you have to say You can text 95500 or

00:38:53 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:58 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. That's an interesting three-way call to listen to because it was like we were calling Travis his grandma or something or mom or something on there. Although I got to be honest with you, she's paying some cash and he's accepting it. i have to ask this question because we have often let women off on using their sexual prowess to get themselves some cash through obviously only fans and things like that are we being too judgmental by saying that he's a cheater for what he is doing right now he's trying to put money

00:39:36 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 2:

on the table and pay some of the bills no because we've always been supportive when it was consensual and obviously the girl here didn't know.

00:39:46 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Angel's not a fan of it. You mean like the relationship, the person in a relationship.

00:39:50 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 2:

Right, right, right, right.

00:39:52 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Because obviously the woman that we were talking to seems very consensual. She was more consensual.

00:40:00 - 00:40:04 | Speaker 6:

Michelle, what are your thoughts with War of the Roses this morning? Hi.

00:40:04 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 3:

Can you hear me?

00:40:05 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 6:

I got you. What's going on?

00:40:07 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So I 100% think that she's aware that the woman in question is aware that this man has a girlfriend. By the way, she reacted to him saying he was busy tonight and this weekend and whatever. Yeah. She's kind of like giggled. To me, that makes me believe that she 100% knows that she has a girlfriend.

00:40:30 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 6:

Although she did seem shocked, obviously. I would be shocked, too, if the girlfriend's on the phone and you didn't know that that was going on. But she was very shocked, just like he was shocked, that somebody else was on the phone line. But you're right. I think you're right with that. It's kind of like she's like, okay, I know I got him only on the times I can get him, right?

00:40:47 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. And there's some people who are okay with that if they've been lonely long enough. And I think she's sending him money to try to keep him around. Because I do know a lot of people who have done that. Really? So it's not an uncommon thing.

00:41:02 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 6:

Women that have done that or guys that are doing that?

00:41:04 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Oh, yes. I personally have had friends who know a guy is cheating or know a guy may not be all in. But they stay and try to keep him in as much as they can just because they don't want to be alone.

00:41:19 - 00:41:25 | Speaker 5:

Okay. SZA made a song about that. It's called The Weekend. You take Wednesday, Thursday. I take Friday.

00:41:26 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 6:

Which day would you want? Friday for sure. No Sundays. I'm watching football. Delaney, what's going on?

00:41:32 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I hate to admit it, but I think he is doing it just to get the money.

00:41:39 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's love.

00:41:42 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 2:

I really don't. The way he backtracks so fast when she actually wanted to hang out made it seem like he's just doing it to get the money.

00:41:51 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 5:

That doesn't make it any easier, though, for his girlfriend to hear that.

00:41:54 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 2:

No, absolutely not. And I agree with the last caller that the lady did sound like she knew that he had somebody else and could only spend time with him when he could.

00:42:07 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:42:08 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't think anything is actually going on because he backtracked so fast.

00:42:15 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 6:

Do we just assume that this is a sugar mama that we're talking about? Yeah, that's what I'm getting. How do you find sugar moms? I wonder where you found her. I don't know. I want to try to find one for Zach. Rico, what's happening? It's Mojo. How are you, buddy? Good. How are you doing? Doing okay, Rico. I'm kind of interested in this whole Travis situation. I don't know. When you hear that, Rico, does it sound like something that would intrigue you? Would you ever want to be in a situation, like, you know, have a sugar mama paying your bills?

00:42:48 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 2:

No, not really. It's just nothing but a headache.

00:42:51 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 6:

Really? You want to earn your money the honest way?

00:42:56 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, 100%.

00:42:57 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 6:

Liar. Go ahead. What are your comments?

00:43:02 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 2:

I think she's a sugar mama, honestly.

00:43:04 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah? But still cheating. So the lady wants a younger man? Sugar mama still equals cheating. It does, 100%. Yeah. Okay, I thought you were saying it's just a sugar mama not cheating.

00:43:15 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 5:

No, no, it's still cheating.

00:43:16 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 1:

Still counts.

00:43:16 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 5:

Is it cheating if he's not sleeping with her?

00:43:19 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 1:

I think when you are still having any sort of relationship on the side of the relationship that you are in and keeping it a secret, that to me counts as cheating. Yes, I agree.

00:43:30 - 00:43:45 | Speaker 5:

Whether it's communication or whether it's sexual, if your girl or your man don't know about it, it's 100% cheating. What if he looks at it? Here's the thing. What if he looks at it as a job? like she said he's looking for money he's not employed right now he's trying to help out around

00:43:45 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 3:

the house he can't find his girl about it it's a job he would tell his girl about it he had more

00:43:50 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 5:

than one person giving him money well i mean what if say for example that your girl doesn't want you to i don't know do only fans or whatever like that it's a job because you have a source of income but she's just not happy with the way that the money is provided if he's a dancer and they talked about stripping and she like i don't want you to do that but it's what he can do is his skill set how's that wrong i have to look at it like this was he doing this before she came into the picture or after i mean if it was before then she already knew about it well if like he was fat before and he lost weight and now he got a six-pack then you know he probably is you know a stripper now and i don't know bro i ain't trying to fit nobody that's what i'm trying by the way i wanted to

00:44:34 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 6:

see how many more analogies you can come up with on this one uh rico thank you for the call buddy i appreciate it i have to tell you i normally like when i get a cheater and wore the roses i feel for the person and i'm thinking to myself as much as i feel for angel on this one i don't think his intentions are bad his intentions if they are Thank you.

00:45:00 - 00:45:33 | Speaker 2:

to just try to have money and come up with money. I'd rather see him doing this than selling drugs. Like, I'd rather have him, instead of risking, you know, what's going on, risking what's happening legally if he's selling hard drugs, like, you know, meth and stuff like that. Oh, my God. What do you think, Shannon? Would you ever consider selling your soul to an older, if you were a single? Well, I guess this woman's not single either.

00:45:34 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:45:34 - 00:45:39 | Speaker 2:

If times were tough, be honest, would you ever want to...

00:45:39 - 00:45:50 | Speaker 6:

I think I could get creative with how I would... How about Jeff Sackwell? I'm going to see him today. That's awkward. I think I would get very creative with how I would make money, but it wouldn't be this.

00:45:51 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

Leah, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's happening? Where are the roses?

00:45:55 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. So I was thinking, Even though it's not physical, it's like a form of emotional cheating, in my opinion, because he's, you know, connecting with somebody else, and he's also hiding it from a significant other. Even if he's only doing it for money, if it's something you have to hide, it's something he's going to be doing in the first place.

00:46:19 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:46:20 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 4:

See, I don't know.

00:46:21 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 2:

You have too much common sense. Why are you listening to the show?

00:46:24 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 3:

You're losing, Kev. I'm good with that. I'm good to fight along. I'm just saying, I think people sell things that maybe their spouse isn't okay with them doing. I think, like you said, it's hard as it's a pure romance.

00:46:36 - 00:46:51 | Speaker 6:

No, but okay. Whatever. But when there's another person involved in it, then technically that's a relationship. It might not be a sexual relationship, but it's still a relationship that's being hidden. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like the selling things. You're going to sell pure romance. Good for you.

00:46:52 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean, and again, I'm defending the other side. I'm defending the other side because I'm trying to look out for him because I think he's doing this to look out for his family

00:47:02 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 6:

there are other ways

00:47:05 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 2:

he's been trying I'm going to just go on record and say that this has been the hardest War of the Roses that we've ever done and I'm going to let the listeners in on something we have two phone lines that are working right now this is back to my WCRX Columbia College radio days when phone lines were like one phone line and I had to call my sister to be a caller on the show. This is the most unreal thing that we've ever done. You guys, we've been talking over here. Lydia's panicking in the other room, trying to get people on the phone. KP and I are over on this side dialing people up on literally our boss's private phone number that he has. So don't call that number after we're done with the show today because that's our boss's number. This is insanity today.

00:47:51 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 6:

Yesterday, no internet today.

00:47:53 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 2:

No phone. I think they shut our phone lines down on us. I think literally, because we're moving here, this is the last Thursday War of the Roses from this building. We're moving to a new building. But they've been shutting our stuff off. I'm telling you, the power's going to be off by the time that we're done with this last show on Tuesday. Amanda, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:48:13 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I think he is cheating because why else would she say that she had to work for it?

00:48:21 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 2:

work for it uh well but the question is not that that uh we do you think that she knows of this

00:48:29 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 5:

girlfriend yeah and then she's like no the girl you think the older woman we assume she's older

00:48:35 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 2:

she just could just have an older you know sounding voice but do you think that this person is uh is somebody that knows that it's just a sexual relationship and this guy has a girlfriend

00:48:44 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 5:

out there or do you think she thinks that they're in a relationship i don't think he she knows that he's in a relationship but i believe he is meeting with her and she's working for the time so yeah they're they're doing something okay thank you for the call i appreciate it listen to the war

00:49:04 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 2:

of the roses it's available on the iheart radio app or wherever you get podcasts just search war of the roses and then look for uh travis's sugar mama that's what we'll call it i uh think that lydia is going to lose her mind today you want to know why yeah i agree our contests are caller 95 she's got one phone line to count 95 on what if i told you that phone line doesn't have a call in on it you can't only my call out oh you've been calling out on it four is like a deadline it's my only call out oh i thought people could get through on that line that's the only one so hold on let me see so do we do 95 text what do we do because i think that legally we can't do We can do a text contest or some stupid stuff. We can do a show. We'll do it live. Should we go home? Yeah. No, let's go to breakfast.

00:49:55 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 6:

No, because this is like a big podcast.

00:49:56 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 2:

This is what happens.

00:49:57 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

No, look, we don't go to breakfast. Let's order breakfast. We'll just.

00:50:00 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 5:

here just oh this is what happens when you call our our phone line let's do it let's do a facebook live for the rest of the time so why are they can somebody explain to me what why did they shut our internet off yesterday because whoever shut the internet off yesterday is responsible for shutting the phone line off today i talked to tony beers and he said that they're not transferring over our phone lines until tuesday at 11 a.m i don't buy it somebody somebody needs to answer for this

00:50:28 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 2:

one somebody you know what we need to do is figure out who is in our new building and have them go into our studio and see if if the lines are ringing they might who's over there right now

00:50:38 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 5:

it's probably transferred over there it's too early ronda or tony beers we can call either oh call tony the tiger actually ask him all right well let me get to the let me get to the dirty and then we'll so the jingle ball tickets we may have to give them away when we get new phone lines back if we get phone lines back so hold on one second so the contest i won't be able to uh to do right now and i feel horrible about that but uh there's some kind of legal but malarkey uh that's a word i think you can say here but you can't say it in ireland all right shannon what you got in this

00:51:13 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 2:

hour is dirty on the 30 shannon well a big announcement from detroit mayor mike duggan yesterday he will not seek re-election next year and his speech was met with a roaring applause from all of his employees who love him. One cut him off to suggest that he should be running for president when he's done with being mayor, but Mayor Duggan expected by many to run for Michigan governor in 2026. He didn't really say what he plans to do after leaving City Hall at the conclusion of his third term.

00:51:42 - 00:52:09 | Speaker 3:

I feel like I did what I set out to do. My goal was to have Detroit growing in population, getting more people moving in than moving out. And for the first time since 1957, we've gotten there. We have a lot of talent in this city. And I think there's going to be a lot of candidates. And I'm going to watch closely and make up my mind who I'm supporting, as I think other Detroiters will do.

00:52:09 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 5:

Guy saved DMC Hospital. He saved the city of Detroit, came out of bankruptcy.

00:52:14 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And he said he'll give more details on what's next for him in a couple weeks.

00:52:18 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 5:

Can we get him to work for iHeartRadio and get us phone lines? Can we figure that out?

00:52:23 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 4:

Can I? Remember the name, Mary Sheffield. Can I ask a question?

00:52:26 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 5:

Are you endorsing somebody right now?

00:52:28 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 4:

I don't think we can do that. I'm just saying. She's the city council president. Do you like her? I don't know much about her. Yeah, Mary Sheffield, she the one, especially in the community. She's all about the people. So just remember that name.

00:52:39 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 5:

Have we had a female mayor in the city of Detroit? I don't think we have. I don't think so. I don't think that that has happened.

00:52:48 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 4:

I'll look into that.

00:52:49 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:52:50 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 4:

All right.

00:52:50 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 5:

Interesting. What were we going to say, Megan? You were going to say, can I what?

00:52:54 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 4:

It's okay. I Googled it. It's fine.

00:52:56 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 5:

No, go ahead. What was the question? I want to know what the answer is.

00:52:58 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 4:

I was wondering if there was term limits for the Detroit mayor.

00:53:02 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 5:

No, there's not. He could have been mayor until he died, if you wanted to. Or, yeah. Yeah, no term limits. For governor, there are. So there's gubernatorial term limits, which Governor Whitmer is term limited. This is the last couple years.

00:53:17 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it same as president?

00:53:18 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 5:

It's, yeah, eight years. So a lot of the rumor is that Mike Duggan will run for governor. A lot of people, though, think he won't run for governor because they think that he won't win votes outside of the city of Detroit. And a lot of people think that Jocelyn Benson will run for governor. She's the secretary of state. But if you ever stand in line at secretary of state, I don't know if I necessarily think that that's governor ready.

00:53:44 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 2:

And I don't really know much about Jocelyn Benson, so this is not an endorsement by any means. but you don't wait in line anymore if you've got an appointment.

00:53:50 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 5:

I've waited in line at the one in West Bloomfield. You've got to go in there. Actually, you know what they do? You don't have an appointment, you've got to get out of here. They do the whole appointment thing anymore. So it's like you've got to be going and getting an appointment so you're going to the doctor's office.

00:54:01 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

Fact check, though. There's never been a female mayor, but currently we have a deputy mayor, the second woman in city's history to hold that position. Her name is Malia Howard, so shout out to you. Nice, okay. Can she get us phone lines?

00:54:13 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 2:

President-elect Donald Trump and President Joe Biden hanging out in front of a roaring fire at the Oval Office yesterday. Did you see that thing? Holy cow. Dude, that fire like went up the chimney.

00:54:24 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 5:

It was like...

00:54:25 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 2:

That's all people could focus on.

00:54:28 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 5:

I thought the White House was going to burn down yesterday.

00:54:30 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 2:

But Trump claimed that they both quote-unquote really enjoyed seeing each other during the historic post-election get-together.

00:54:38 - 00:54:53 | Speaker 1:

Politics is tough, and it's in many cases not a very nice world, But it is a nice world today, and I appreciate very much a transition that's so smooth. It'll be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate it.

00:54:53 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

The president-elect added that he and Biden did discuss two issues on which they've differed very much in the past, the war in Ukraine.

00:55:00 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 3:

which Trump has promised to end almost immediately upon taking office and the ongoing war in the Middle East was a topic of discussion as well.

00:55:06 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 4:

The first lady elect, I don't know what they call it, but Melania Trump was not there. They say we're protesting because she was upset that Barron's room got raided when they were looking for those documents. She didn't show up, but I thought it was a nice gesture that First Lady Jill Biden handed Mr. Trump a letter and said this is for the first lady. So it was kind of, I don't know what was in the letter. It could be a blank piece of paper, but I tell you what, it's nice that she did that.

00:55:35 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 3:

This is a big viral story today. Four California residents, idiots really, were arrested for insurance fraud when they claimed a bear damaged their car. But it was actually a person in a bear costume. The suspects filed a claim with their insurance company saying a bear got into their car, which was a 2010 Rolls Royce ghost. Pretty nice car. And damaged the inside with all sorts of scratches and stuff. OK, so the insurance company said the suspects even provided them with a video which showed this bear in the car. I mean, crazy. They were able to capture this on video, right? Well, an investigation into the claim took a closer look at said video and found the bear. I'm using air quotes. You just can't see me. Was actually a person in a bear costume. And they further verified that by taking the video to biologists at the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. And they were like, yeah, that's not a real bear.

00:56:29 - 00:56:34 | Speaker 4:

You've got to see the house camera. It's fantastic.

00:56:34 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 3:

Here's the crazy part. There were also two other similar claims filed by the same group of people. Those claims also had videos of a bear damaging their two cars. The insurance department said those videos also appeared to be a person in a bear costume scratching up the inside of the cars. The suspects defrauded these insurance companies upwards of $141,000. Wow. It was all said and done.

00:56:57 - 00:57:04 | Speaker 4:

Do you think those were the same people that were in the bear costume in Grand Blanc in Muskegon? Remember we got those calls yesterday when we were talking about bear?

00:57:06 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, this is a story for Kev to end the dirty. Have you yet heard the T-Pain-Mark Zuckerberg collab of Get Low? Guys, you are welcome.

00:57:42 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 4:

00:59:08 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I have four phone lines open. Oh, okay. And I only call out of those four.

00:59:12 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 4:

You have four phone lines. So what does that mean? That means, but they can't dial us. We have to call them.

00:59:17 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 1:

I have to text. And if they can't talk, please specify because it will waste my time.

00:59:21 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 4:

Let's go on TikTok. Why don't we do that? You want to do it? Let's get it. Or can people, KP, you are the expert at this. I know we normally do our YouTube and Facebook. Can people jump on and comment with us? Like jump on and we'll accept that?

Yeah. I'm going to have the TikTok go live and then you just request to join our live if you have a good topic and we will put you through to Mojo.

00:59:44 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I like that. By the way, I have to tell you something. We have been at this studio now for 20 years, I found out. I did not know that. I didn't know it was that long. So it's been a 20, I believe in a couple of weeks would have been a 20th.

01:00:00 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 1:

anniversary we're going to be shy of 20 years and this has been not an uncommon thing we have gone without phones before on the show and i will never forget the time that we ended up going on tic tac which i think was the last one that we when we lost the phones and it was honestly one of my most favorite moments prior to that and this is like maybe a couple three producers ago i would just leave and go to literally mcdonald's next door and i'd sit there until they could figure it out, and then they would call me to come back after running Best Of's. You know what's there now. Yeah. Savvy Sly Dude. Oh, it's one of my favorites. But it was. I had no patience. For some reason, they say as you get older, you lose patience. I think I've gained patience. You have,

01:00:44 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 3:

and honestly, you know my take on this. I'm disappointed. I don't know your take. What's your take? Because His E-Fit Mojo was super fun to watch. Yeah. Hey, guys. But I'm proud of you. What are we on now?

Yeah, I can hear you.

01:04:29 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up? It's Mojo, Shannon, Megan.

01:04:32 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

01:04:33 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 1:

Kev KP, Lydia, Zach. Our phone lines are down. So we're on TikTok right now. Mojo in the morning on TikTok. What you doing?

01:04:41 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 3:

First time on the phone. Long time listening. Hey!

01:04:45 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes. And where are you from?

01:04:48 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 4:

I'm from Detroit.

01:04:50 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 1:

Nice to have you. Are you going to school or work?

01:04:53 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 4:

I just dropped off my 17-year-old at high school.

01:04:57 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:04:57 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 4:

You sound like you're 17. Yeah. Oh, my goodness, you sound so young. I'm actually turning 23 next week.

01:05:05 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Man. You said you had a 17-year-old. Wait, you have a 17-year-old and you're 23?

01:05:11 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so I had adopted her from my sister.

01:05:15 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's incredible, Jen.

01:05:17 - 01:05:19 | Speaker 5:

That is an amazing story.

01:05:19 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 2:

That is pretty awesome. By the way, 20-

01:05:21 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 5:

That is an amazing story.

01:05:22 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 2:

How awesome would it be to be a 17-year-old and have a 23-year-old mom? That'd be kind of cool. Are you more strict because you are 23 years old with your 17-year-old and you know when they're lying to you?

01:05:35 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Oh, my goodness. So we work together. I'm a bartender, and she does like to-go's.

01:05:42 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Got it.

01:05:42 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 4:

And when I work, they're like, oh, yeah, go to your mom. And I'm like, what?

01:05:47 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Wow. We all like the same kind of guys?

01:05:51 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Don't make it weird. No. Don't make it everything weird. How's that weird? You're making everything weird.

01:05:55 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 2:

Jenna, I got to ask you a question. Is it tough for being a 23-year-old raising a 17-year-old?

01:06:03 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 4:

It is because I also have my three-year-old.

01:06:07 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:06:07 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 4:

And I'm a single parent living on my own.

01:06:10 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:06:13 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 4:

The situation that she came from, I tried to make her life a whole different now than it was back then.

01:06:21 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Really? Mom had some struggles?

01:06:24 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:06:26 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 2:

I got to fart right now. I've been holding it the whole time. Oh my God. Alright, what's the ETA with the, what's the latest on this?

01:08:34 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 1:

01:08:46 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 2:

Here's the deal. If she's going to sweat, we all got to sweat. So everybody get up. We're doing jumping jacks. We're doing all kinds of stuff. We'll use TikTok too for this topic. Yeah.

01:08:54 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 3:

01:08:58 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

01:09:16 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 2:

I gotta be careful today though I got a long day I got a long day ahead of me I got a long day ahead of me

01:09:21 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh we've got the wine opener now I gotta behave It's in the studio With the wine You wanna get it? Yeah Alright

01:09:26 - 01:10:17 | Speaker 2:

This is uh This is such a great show I love this No We're discouraging you From drinking this early in the morning But we're encouraged ourselves To drink this early in the morning Alright Please drink responsibly It's Mojo in the morning show So we're moving to this new building We're moving to a beautiful broadcast facility that will have all shiny new equipment. I was talking to Fletch last night. He said he got a chance to see it. He said to me, he goes, man, you got to understand something. And all the years that I've been around radio and Fletch has been in radio. long time so i've never seen a better looking building and studio than that so it's going to be awesome but kev found the one flaw that this thing has when he was down training yesterday yeah and it involves the same flaw that i saw which was the bathroom yes what it what was your

01:10:17 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 3:

problem with the bathroom so my problem is there aren't any boo-boo sheets in there like when you when you go into a restroom like the ones we have here they have the i call them the spit seats yeah And saying spit, because obviously we can't cuss, but the spit seats that are attached to the door that you can rip off and politely dress the porcelain throne with so that you're not asked to seat. Because when I was raised, I was told when you go outside the house, if it's not like immediate family, you do not put your ass on somebody else's toilet seat. So immediate family has better germs than strangers do. I think it's just a comfort level. Okay. I would never put my booty on none of y'all seats because we don't get down like that. And when I say we, the Irwin household.

01:11:02 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 2:

Are you saying that Megan and Shannon and KP and Lydia have dirty boo-boos?

01:11:06 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 3:

It has nothing to do. See, this is what I'm learning in the four agreements. Don't take anything personally. It's not about y'all being dirty. It's just about me and what I want to do with my booty. I appreciate it.

01:11:18 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:11:19 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 3:

What you mean no?

01:11:21 - 01:11:27 | Speaker 4:

I'm waiting. So you out here, you raw dogging seats? Let Mojo get his thing out, and then I will tell you why you're all wrong.

01:11:27 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 1:

You're new to the show, so you don't know this. Yeah, she rot-ducks the seats.

01:11:31 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Disgusting. I'm not allowed to say that. I got to tell you, I think that boo-boo sheets don't do boo-boo. And I think that they're-

01:11:37 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 4:

They absolutely don't, by the way. They're about to load a crap. But you use TP.

01:11:41 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 2:

It is a thin little piece. Even a piece of toilet paper. If you're going to get somebody's anal wart, you're going to get it.

01:11:48 - 01:11:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm not worried about anal warts. I'm just worried about it. So it's going to go through the sheet. It matters.

01:11:51 - 01:12:00 | Speaker 4:

Do you think the sheet is just an amazing piece of material that limits all things from passing through it? It absorbs liquid.

01:12:00 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hold on. Who has liquid on a toilet seat? Hang on, Amanda.

01:12:03 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 4:

Every women's bathroom ever because all y'all idiots hover instead of just sitting down.

01:12:07 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I sit down on the toilet paper that I cover the seat with. Thank you, Shannon.

01:12:11 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 2:

Amanda.

01:12:11 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 4:

I sit my booty down.

01:12:13 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 2:

Hi, welcome. Amanda from TikTok, I got to ask you, when you sit on a toilet seat, I'm going to swear during this topic um do you raw dog it or do you put something down on the seat

01:12:28 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 4:

i don't go boo-boo come on come on man the one okay when you pee when you pee ask my husband

01:12:36 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 2:

can they hear us yeah yes yeah okay so what if you're going to the bathroom and you're sitting down you actually sit right on the seat on a public seat no use a um sheet there you go okay So Megan and I don't, Kev and Shannon do. We don't think that it does anything at all.

01:12:55 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 4:

It doesn't do anything. What are you saying, bro?

01:12:58 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 2:

What we're saying. Hold on.

01:12:59 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 4:

I lost you guys.

01:13:00 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, sorry about that. Where are you, by the way? What town are you in? Where are you in? Can you hear me? Yeah, Amanda, where are you on TikTok listening to us?

01:13:11 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 4:

Rochester.

01:13:12 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 2:

You guys in Rochester do have clean toilets. I mean, honestly, I'd sit on a toilet in Rochester. I look at people in Rochester They don't look like they have the germs That people in other places might have But thank you for the TikTok I appreciate you We're going to add somebody else to this Who else we add into this Noah You too Bye Thank you Noah Hey Noah Oh my god I sound like I'm slow Noah Noah This is not good radio I know That was pretty good This is not good radio Noah did I lose you? 01:14:03 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 2:

Nick what do you do?

01:14:07 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 1:

What Kevin Refers to a boo-boo sheet Is actually called an ass gasket

01:14:13 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 2:

hey nick guys don't use those that's why you never see them replaced in guys bathrooms

01:14:22 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 1:

that's not yeah i've seen some really weird ones where they line the toilet with toilet paper that's what i had to do yesterday eight plies high they made a cushion no that's me

01:14:36 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 4:

I do that and I make a nest I'm crazy about it

01:14:40 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey Nick when you do that you gotta be careful because you're gonna be walking around with toilet paper and your butt crack the rest of the day

01:14:50 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah that happens I mean that's me I don't use an ass gasket

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

We love you buddy thanks for calling man Thanks for helping us on a day when our phone

01:15:00 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 1:

lines are bad uh look at this beauty oh my god hello hold on hold on let me fix my hair when i see you guys look how beautiful nina is this nina hi nina you there nina's glamour shot today what's going nina can you hear me oh she's frozen this is not a time to freeze you see nina holy cow nina's beautiful nina nina uses one pretty girls use it what you're trying to say and guys that have to worry about anal warts what's going on hi nina i know she's gone jessica you're on with us now on tiktok hi jessica hi hey jessica are you listening to the topic

01:15:45 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:15:46 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 1:

Your thoughts on this. Do you put something down on the seat?

01:15:49 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 3:

I do not use public bathrooms at all.

01:15:53 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 1:

What'd you say?

01:15:55 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 3:

I don't use public bathrooms at all.

01:15:58 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 1:

Really? I've heard more and more people say that they don't use public bathrooms. What do you do if you got to go?

01:16:05 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 2:

I either hold it and rush home or I go and I don't sit on the toilet. That's for sure. But then you're the problem if you're going and you're not sitting on the toilet. Truly, you are the reason why there's a perception of nasty toilets in public. It's okay. At least you're not getting the germs. Be the problem.

01:16:22 - 01:16:24 | Speaker 4:

Don't get the germs. Don't bring home the infection.

01:16:25 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 2:

Truly, if you used a public bathroom and you sat down, that toilet seat would be cleaner than every handle and railing you touch in public all of the time. So if everybody just sat down. No, because then everybody's booty germs are, okay.

01:16:41 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 4:

So I make this analogy. I want you to go to the Kroger across the street, meet a stranger in the produce aisle, and say, pull down your pants, and I'm going to pull down my pants, and we put our asses together.

01:16:52 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 2:

That's what that's like to me. By the way, if you do that, the police are coming. Okay, not to get weird about this, but nothing gross touches a toilet seat. Your thighs touch a toilet seat. I would put my thigh against your thigh any day of the week rather than touching your hands and then putting them in my mouth. And because you hover, that's when you pee on the seat. I'm still not letting my ass cheeks touch someone else's.

01:17:20 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Unbelievable. Hey, hold on. Rochelle's got a great point here. What's up, Rochelle?

01:17:24 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 3:

I think it's crazy that the guy that just yesterday admitted that he does not shower or change his underwear for four days is so worried about whose butt is touching his butt on the seat. Listen. Kev, I kind of don't want you on my team for that purpose, but I'll still take you.

01:17:42 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 1:

We have to draw the line somewhere, Rochelle.

01:17:44 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 3:

And, Kev, you said you aren't close enough with Shannon to have your butt touch her seat. I think she needs to worry about your butt. Who answered this? Who picked up the line?

01:17:55 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 1:

Hold on, Zach. Goodbye, Rochelle. Thank you for the call. We appreciate you so much.

01:18:01 - 01:18:03 | Speaker 2:

Hang up the phone, mother...

01:18:03 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 1:

All right, I want to ask a question. And I want to call out my buddy here, okay? And I will tell you that this is a guy, Randy is a guy that I've known for probably five or six years. We got to know each other when the world started golfing during COVID. I guess golf became so popular, and I started golfing a little bit more. And he's a guy that I'll golf with from time to time. And I want to call him out because he's a single guy. He's 38-ish or years old. He's not going to be 40 years old in like a year or two. and he's dating a girl, and we were all sitting around having a conversation with each other, and the conversation came up of, hey, let's just go. We'll go, and we'll go grab something to eat, and we'll go up to this place that's right down the street, and he said, he says, well, he says, I got to be really careful because my girlfriend will know that I'm there, and I said, well, how's she going to know that you're there? You know what I mean? Like, she's not here right now. she's working or whatever and he says because she's got me on her find my iphone and so she sees his find my iphone and i said to him wait a second you guys have only been dating for probably a year or so like not even a year why would you do find my iphone with your girlfriend and he said well she asked me if i would do it and i said i would do it and i thought it would be suspicious if i didn't so i got nothing to hide so i'm doing it i want to ask this question And this is something to all the listeners out there that are single in relationships or, you know, married. Who knows? Are you being tracked by your significant other? And if so, don't you find it intrusive that you're being tracked?

01:19:45 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 4:

I am. And I don't mind it. And I have Wes's location, too. In fact, I can tell you where he is right now.

01:19:50 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. You're one of those. So I don't. Here's the thing, though. It is so dang helpful. The guy can't even keep a secret of us going to get a drink.

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 3:

drink at a bar from his girl because it would be suspicious if he turns off his find my iPhone

01:20:05 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 4:

she'll notice it but why couldn't he just tell her it's gone because that's my question this is

01:20:11 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

the dumbest thing ever he's always told her that he was going to take her there he hasn't taken her yet and so he said that we couldn't be his first and I'm like we couldn't be your first what are

01:20:21 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 4:

you talking about so does she sit there and check it all the time he says that she would even know

01:20:28 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 3:

He said that even if she, because I asked that question, I said, wait a second, how's she going to know? He says, even if she just checked it, she would think that he was doing something he shouldn't have been doing because he didn't call and tell her that. I would never want to be in a relationship if that was what my relationship was, where I always had to sit there and worry that they're going to, they're looking at me or they're doing something, you know?

01:20:50 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if Wes wants to see where I am, I don't care.

01:20:53 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 3:

I can see where I am. 844-MOJO-LIVE. You can't call us. I don't know why I just said that. um text 95500 lydia is going to call you or tiktok and i want to know your thoughts on this one i want to know from people who are right now doing this kev you're not doing you don't do that honestly

01:21:09 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 2:

it it made me feel uncomfortable when sherelle and i used to share locations and it wasn't that i was somewhere i wasn't supposed to be or i was worried that i was going to go somewhere i wasn't supposed to be and she would see i think i might have been at like chipotle or something like that And she mentioned that I was there And I just didn't like that That's just weird to me

01:21:29 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 4:

I share my location with Megan Wes and my sister Jacqueline I have my sisters though

01:21:35 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 3:

And that's just for safety What would you do though Shannon if all of a sudden out of the blue Wes goes hey saw you were at Wouldn't that make you feel creepy

01:21:42 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 4:

So I do it to him all the time I'll be like oh must be stopped at the light on Long Lake And he's like you're such a creep

01:21:48 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 3:

That's psycho behavior You gotta be careful of that Like y'all say it gives me the air

01:21:53 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 4:

yeah so i do i do think it's very helpful though uh in situations of just like knowing um like yesterday i used this because and this sounds stupid but it's true i wanted to make sure that i had like that dinner was hot when he walked through the door because i knew he was going to be starving so i could see he was like five minutes away okay put everything on really

01:22:14 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 3:

quick and warm it up you know like stupid stuff like that do you know how much i would get busted when chelsea would say where are you and i say i'm on my way home and i'm like not even on my way home noah what's up hi noah's on tiktok hi noah hello hello noah man y'all gotta be ready on tiktok he's on there but i don't see i don't see any volume coming from him so i don't think noah's it doesn't seem like it's sending volume to him so uh let's go to how about nina she or did we already talk to nina we did oh you talked to nina here's the thing though your friend had

01:22:48 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 4:

a really good point like what if wes had asked me because we had a conversation about sharing location what if he had asked me to share my location i was like no i don't want to i don't believe that is such a it puts you in such a predicament right because automatically you go to the suspicion of well where are you going that you don't want me to see even if it's a comfort

01:23:09 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 1:

thing tom's on tiktok hi tom hey um i've actually got a lot to say on this topic i've been in three long-term relationships uh the first two they asked for my location gave it to him because you know at the end of the day I mean yeah I agree saying no is a bit suspicious um but the first two had trust issue trust issues and tracked me everywhere that I went um I had to I mean it's not like I ever lied where I went but it was like if I didn't say where I was going and they asked where i was but like i know that they already know where i am it kind of felt weird yeah but like now i'm engaged to you know my loving fiance and it's just like you know she just tracks me when i'm on my way home or you know just to make sure i'm okay it's never an issue but there are some girls out there who track your location religiously it's like a game to them oh where is my boyfriend

01:24:09 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 3:

at right now and that's weird it's almost it's it almost it's not so much that you don't feel like

01:24:15 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 1:

they trust you but they don't trust you right no that's exactly what that is they want to say like oh it's because of you know past issues trust issues and it's just like no it's because you

01:24:25 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 3:

don't trust me exactly yeah hey buddy thanks man have you been a uh a tiktok follower of ours for a while or is today the first day because you heard us today is today is the first day i love it first time long time thanks buddy appreciate you thank you guys take care bye uh hold on Brianna wants to comment. Hi, Brianna. It's Mojo in the morning. You're on our phone line. We called you. Thanks for your text. What's up?

01:24:50 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, of course. So we should break up with her. That's a red flag. Like, sharing locations, fine. But you tracking everywhere I go and it's a problem? No, that's crazy. Yeah. I think that it's psycho behavior, and I'm glad that somebody does because I think that the problem with him always having to be worried about this and her being the one that's initiating this thing, he'll never get trust from her. Even if he's always playing the game right, he's never going to get that trust because I don't think she's going to give that trust back to him because it was taken by somebody else. What's up, Angela?

01:25:24 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 1:

Hey, I was just calling to say that my ex from a while ago, he wanted to check my location and it was because he was cheating on me.

01:25:32 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 2:

So he was like rejecting. Wow.

01:25:34 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 1:

It was the opposite.

01:25:35 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 2:

That's cold.

01:25:37 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:25:37 - 01:25:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:25:38 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 1:

So he wanted to, he was, you know, thinking maybe I was doing the same because why would I stay with someone who was actually shady or just to see like where I was at, see if he had time to pull anything. So maybe that's the case. But even if not, like your relationship, that's kind of crazy to be asking for all that and to have these issues already. She seems really possessive. I'm like, she's got some other issues to work through.

01:25:57 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 2:

yeah that's a good point thanks for the call i appreciate it katrina official look at the headshot on her on tiktok katrina you there good morning good morning mojo why don't you guys do

01:26:08 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 5:

this often i'm a content creator on here i go live every day i mention you guys all the time

01:26:13 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 2:

in my lives it's crazy really you know what we maybe should maybe in our new building this will be a thing we'll do tiktok tuesdays or something oh what do you think or tiktok thursdays i don't tuesdays is better katrina what do you do on uh tiktok what are you selling are we selling

01:26:27 - 01:26:45 | Speaker 5:

ourselves hold on no i actually myself my content about my son who has severe autism so that's mainly my um content and then i do live battles every day i love it thank you a question where's your face it yeah right while we looking at it yeah i can't open my camera you guys will get

01:26:45 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 2:

katrina a question for you on this topic that we're doing right now um about uh sharing locations and all the rest of that stuff. Are you in a relationship?

01:26:55 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 5:

Not right now, no.

01:26:56 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 2:

In relationships, would you want your next relationship to share their location with you?

01:27:01 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't mind for safety reasons, that's it. But if they were checking up on me about like, oh, where are you going? What are you doing? No, that's the reason why I left my previous one.

01:27:10 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 2:

Really? He was kind of a little nutty?

01:27:13 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 5:

Controlling, yes. So no, I'm good. I'm happy right now. And if anybody ever wants to share my location, it's only for safety reasons with my friends, my family, and that's it.

01:27:20 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay, speak from experience. I appreciate you. Thanks for getting on with us on TikTok. And thanks for talking about us on your TikTok. What's up, Mark? How you doing?

01:27:29 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 4:

Good. How you guys doing?

01:27:30 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. For those that are just tuning in right now wondering what's going on, my head is spinning. I'm hearing them on TikTok and on the show talking with callers. We have no phone line. And so if you have a comment, you can text 95500. The lovely Lydia. Lovely Lydia. We'll get you on. and on tiktok the the crushable kp i don't know what do we what do we say crushable kp lovely lydia i'm trying to give you a compliment too because i don't want anybody to creative kp creative kp there you go is on tiktok mark what's your thoughts on this on sharing locations

01:28:08 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 4:

all right first thing i say shout out to lydia doesn't receive enough credit shout out to her But, no, I do think it is weird. Like, if your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whoever is tracking you and that's cool, whatever safety reasons, plot twist, if they're the ones cheating on you, that was crazy. Yeah. But, like, if I'm at the Dunkin' Donuts and I'm just getting myself a sweet treat, why does my girlfriend have to text me and be like, why are you at Dunkin'? Are you getting me anything? That's where it gets creepy.

01:28:38 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Why were you not automatically getting her something to just respond quickly, yes?

01:28:42 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 4:

so second plot twist no I'm a big fan of just like surprising people with nice things oh good answer and I already am getting her something yeah um whether it is a donut or you know she doesn't drink coffee but she loves those refreshers by the way now we're going deep

01:29:03 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 3:

can I just tell you how I feel about all this quickly like every time I hear oh she was tracking my location i don't know a single girl who sits on there and actually tracks people's locations i'm not saying it doesn't happen i just don't think it's as common as this topic may allude to but what i do hear in all of this is i said i was going to be home in 20 minutes it's taking you 40 minutes to get home i'm trying to figure out if you died in a car wreck or not oh wait you're a Duncan, pick me up a donut. That's what I'm hearing at all times. That's fair.

01:29:36 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 4:

Fair. Can't be mad at that.

01:29:38 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, it is Mojo in the morning show. Shannon, this is a great topic. I was always the person that was not smart enough to ever be asked to cheat off of. Yeah. I was also never the person that was not the smartest guy in the class forever to have a person that said that they would pay me to do their work for them. But I was the person that paid. What's going on? this is so funny to me so my stepdaughter sam is um in she's a sophomore she's in 10th grade and she is super smart super organized just so intelligent has it all together studies all the time she's one of those kids that comes home from school grabs a snack goes right up to her room to start studying and she was telling wes and i by the way real quick i'm sorry i wasn't drop ready for that oh it's okay yeah and i love it because she's me that's exactly how like we this is why we vibe she is me but um she was telling wes and i the other night that they have this big i think it's spanish class i might be wrong in the class but it doesn't matter they have a huge presentation that's going to be due at the end of the semester and so they have to partner up in groups of two for this project and she said that a kid in her class offered her 50 bucks to be her partner and just do the project for her and she's like what should i do you're gonna do it yourself anyway yeah that's just that's how i was yeah um which is not great that but i knew that i i would do it the correct way and maybe you would get a good grade so i just wanted to do everything and not do any delegating do did you ever get paid for this I never got paid. I mean, I wish I did. I never got paid.

01:31:24 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 1:

Our Jacob is the only smart one in our family, hence he's going to be a doctor. But the other ones in radio and the other ones, thankfully, not in prison. But I have to tell you that Jacob would get this all the time.

01:31:40 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 2:

He would get paid?

01:31:41 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 1:

First off, kids always wanted to be in Jacob's group for projects because they knew Jacob got the project done like the first weekend that it was out there. and he would do a lot of the project but he would get offered all the time for help and doing stuff

01:31:54 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what she decided to do she's such a good girl and she was like I don't know I feel like that's not that's not right

01:32:00 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 1:

and Wes is like take the money take the money text us and tell us if you ever paid to get your work done or ever got paid and the ones that got paid I want to know how much money you got paid like how much money are you getting out of this and then TikTok too we'll go on TikTok right now because our phone lines are down So pick smart people Like nah that guy doesn't look very smart Go to the next I'm just like I don't think that guy That guy might be paying for his stuff That picture No offense But who is this now on here? Samantha Samantha looks like the type of person That would be smart Samantha you there?

01:32:37 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah I'm here

01:32:38 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 1:

Hey Samantha Samantha Did you hear Shannon tell the story about her? My Samantha Her stepdaughter So question Are you the smart one that would have people cheat off of you, or are you one of those that you needed somebody else to cheat off of?

01:32:55 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 3:

Depends on the topic, but in college for a lot of group projects, I would be kind of like the person delegating what's going on, but I've never had anyone pay me. I kind of got cheaped. People didn't pay me, and I still had all the work.

01:33:12 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 1:

I would think nowadays in college, it would be so much better with AI, but can they tell if you're AI in it?

01:33:20 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, not, I graduated about three years ago from college, but that was when chat GPT had just started.

01:33:28 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah.

01:33:29 - 01:33:43 | Speaker 3:

But now they have things you can go type into chat GPT, then take that to a different program, just keep going through different programs. So it can't be detected. Now you have to prove you didn't cheat. They just accuse you of cheating. Do they really? You didn't. Yes.

01:33:43 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you have a beautiful home or is that work? Where is that?

01:33:46 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 3:

Home.

01:33:47 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's so nice. It's nice to see your face this morning.

01:33:50 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:33:51 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for jumping on with us. We appreciate you.

01:33:54 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course. I also long time first time. Samantha on the live.

01:34:00 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 1:

01:34:29 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 3:

I just kind of Went to a Catholic school and I just had to sit close to the The good students I was waiting

01:34:38 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 1:

For by the way him to say a racial slur or something like that why you say that because you always knew who the uh you always for some reason in my class when i went to school i went to a very diverse catholic uh high school and we had uh lots of kids of all races uh religions even you know non-catholics going there and you always knew where the Let's move on.

01:35:00 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

kids were and for some reason all the kids that were indian were very very smart and i used to cheat off of all the indian kids in the class okay and i'm saying it in a positive way that's right but you know what i mean like i'm like you know i'm like hey you know can i teacher sit over by that guy over there because i'm gonna i'm gonna cheat off of him did that happen at all am i bad for saying that will i get canceled for saying that black kids in my school

01:35:28 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 4:

Mine wasn't so diverse

01:35:31 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 3:

I don't have to trade public schools Though you did go to a very creative school Yeah

01:35:35 - 01:35:43 | Speaker 4:

I used to fail a lot I'm going to be honest with you Thank God I went to a school that had acting Because I had to guarantee three or four A's

01:35:43 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 3:

Every car market Joey, let me ask you a quick question Do you think that Shannon's stepdaughter Should take the money?

01:35:51 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely

01:35:52 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 3:

By the way, nobody's saying That it's immoral

01:35:56 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 8:

I know. It's not. Except for her. Like, she's worried about that.

01:36:01 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, bud. Yeah, Joe?

01:36:05 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 1:

So, real quick, long-time listener. Or not, short-time listener.

01:36:09 - 01:36:11 | Speaker 8:

Oh, you definitely weren't doing the group project. No, no, no.

01:36:12 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 1:

No, it's good, Joe. Wait, what did he say, though? A couple years ago, Howard Stern got a little too expensive. I found you. I'm glad I found you.

01:36:20 - 01:36:20 | Unknown:

Yeah!

01:36:22 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 1:

Go pay for radio. Coming from Syracuse, New York. Wow.

01:36:25 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 3:

I love it, man. Thanks, buddy. Thank you so much.

01:36:28 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 1:

I listen to you every morning. Go orange. As you drive to school. So thank you.

01:36:32 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 3:

Our boss's daughter's on the Syracuse volleyball team. Nick Na's daughter is on the volleyball team up at Syracuse. And they got a great team. So thank you. Thank you so much, buddy. I appreciate you. All right. Let me go to some phone lines here. Liv, are you there?

01:36:50 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm here.

01:36:51 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Liv. What do you think? Paying for grades?

01:36:54 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 6:

i mean as a parent i shouldn't condone it but i get it yeah it's i guess you're supposed to

01:37:02 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 3:

discourage it as a parent wes wes is like go for it because you're gonna get screwed no matter what

01:37:08 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 7:

so you might as well get the money i never understood group projects i never understood this isn't the real world in a job where there's consequences for your actions it's either i'm getting a worse grade or i'm doing it all myself yeah give me money and you and you were suspended

01:37:22 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. Hold on. What grade were you suspended?

01:37:26 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 6:

Fourth grade.

01:37:28 - 01:37:29 | Speaker 8:

Fourth grade.

01:37:30 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

No recess.

01:37:31 - 01:37:31 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:37:32 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 6:

I accepted a dollar from a student when we were playing capture the flag. They really wanted the flag, I guess.

01:37:38 - 01:37:44 | Speaker 3:

That's funny. What's going on, Lauren? Lauren was one that paid for grades. Lauren, what did you pay?

01:37:44 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey, guys. Hi. I paid $100 for a six-page essay. I can't remember what class it was. It was an easy class. communications or intro to anthropology, something stupid like that. Hey, that's our jobs. You're just insulting us. Wait a second. No, it was like an intro class, guys, like freshman year. Did not, did not, I could have done it myself. I just didn't feel like it. But I posted on my Snapchat, would pay somebody to do the essay, and the first person that slid up was one of the friends that I had going to U of M at the time. Super smart girl. I was like, oh, I got this in the bag.

01:38:21 - 01:38:22 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:38:22 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, find the kids that's going to U of M. Don't find the kid that's going to OCC. That's crazy. Adriana, what's going on?

01:38:29 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 4:

KP, didn't you go to OCC?

01:38:31 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 3:

No, she went to Oakland U of M.

01:38:32 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 5:

First time, long time. Hey there. Adriana's on the phone.

01:38:36 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 3:

What's happening?

01:38:38 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 5:

Nothing much. But back in high school, I was grouped up with a jock, and he was known to not do any work. So he's like, I'll give you 50 bucks to do a poster board project. and I said, bump it up to $120, and it's a deal. Okay. And he paid me for it, and it took me a day to do. So, yeah, it was great money back then.

01:39:01 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny? You should actually get an A in business class for doing the bump up on that.

01:39:08 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 8:

Okay, so that's what people are saying is, basically, she's just trying to be an entrepreneur, positive. And also, she should just think of herself as a tutor. She's just getting paid to be a tutor.

01:39:20 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 7:

She's not morally doing anything wrong. She's getting paid to write a paper, which is not wrong. It's wrong on the person who paid for it to submit it as their own. She's doing nothing wrong.

01:39:31 - 01:40:01 | Speaker 3:

And by the way, I just got a text from Matt Ishbia. He said he would like to hire that person. So UWM would like to put you behind one of their desks. All right. It's Mojo on the morning show. We are live right now on the radio. We are not able to take phone calls, but we can always, you know, if you guys are kind enough, call you if you text us because our phone system is, what's the ETA? Have we heard anything at all in this? Zero. That's crazy.

01:40:02 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 1:

Zero.

01:40:02 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 3:

Nobody cares, bro.

01:40:04 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 1:

Wait, is Mark the one working on it?

01:40:06 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 3:

Lydia?

01:40:06 - 01:40:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and he's working on it with Tony Beers. Oh, I was going to say, we need to- Shout out to Mark. I love talking to Mark. We need to get Mark in here, because when he's angry, it's so funny.

01:40:15 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 3:

I'd love to know. I would love to know, like, Mark's Megan minute on this. Wouldn't that not be great? We are on TikTok. All right, I'm going to move to another topic. So we're going to go topic to topic. And I got the dirty coming up here. We also have War of the Roses, so we were able to still bust a cheater this morning. All right. It's Mojo in the morning show. Megan, with the trend you can't get behind.

01:40:39 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 2:

My For You page has probably become the most annoying place on TikTok. Is anybody falling into this place on TikTok where your For You page is live, live, ad, live, video with like 30 likes, another live, and then finally a video that has like hundreds of thousands of likes? Or do I just have the crappiest For You page? It's the worst. I don't know what's going on, but it's driving me nuts. But all of these influencers right now are being paid to promote this one purse. This one Louis Vuitton purse. And I'm not mad at Louis Vuitton. Listen, but this purse was trending when I was in high school. It's like a throwback bag that they're trying to bring back. What is it?

01:41:16 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to look it up. I'm looking it up right now. Look at that. Louis. How do you spell Louis Vuitton? You got Louis. The used wife's bag. Is that what it's called? The used wife's bag? I don't have TikTok. Louis Vuitton purse.

01:41:29 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 2:

tick tock i'm gonna do the rose ballerina or ballerina checkered joint they're giving these free to influencers to try to promote on social so that they trend again so that young kids go out and buy this specific bag it's ugly it is the ugliest thing in the entire world is it is it 20 really 2 500 oh i'm sure it is because it's christmas time and they're trying to get junior high and high schoolers to ask for it for christmas oh

01:41:57 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, I just bought it.

01:41:59 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 2:

For me? I'm just kidding. Thank you. See that?

01:42:02 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 3:

They all would have wanted it. If I bought it, they would have wanted it. Exactly. She would have taken it.

01:42:05 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 2:

I feel like there's always these trends. And for some reason, a lot of the ones that have come out recently, I just find to be the ugliest, tackiest things in the entire world. And I really hate to say this if you loved it, and I'm so sorry. But the first example that popped into my head was Ray Dunn. That was so popular. And I thought it was the ugliest thing in the entire world.

01:42:28 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, so did everybody else because that's all you get at HomeGoods or TJ's is Ray Dunn. So you're right with that.

01:42:34 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 3:

All right. So what the topic is, what's the trend that you just, or the big new thing that you did not get behind? You could not get behind. And there's so many of them. You know, we're on TikTok today with, that's how we're getting people to communicate with us. You guys probably, because we just mentioned this, are getting all these right now sent to you. I wonder if the algorithm does that. It has to, right? Where we're having this conversation and people are probably getting them. I always hate when we do stuff on the show and I'll go to my Instagram or Facebook afterwards and I will see ads for what we talked about during the show. And I go, we are getting spied on. Hello to Paige. Hi, Paige. How you doing? Hi. What's happening there? By the way, I get to see everybody's profile pictures, and you guys, please, if you're driving, don't worry about going live. Everybody's got great pictures. We have good-looking listeners. Oh, thank you. Yeah, even Tom, the guy we talked to a couple of minutes ago. Guy's a good-looking dude. What's going on, Paige?

01:43:37 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 2:

The one trend I could never get behind is low-rise jeans. Oh, boy.

01:43:42 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Yeah, I'm not. See, I'm not in the bag. I don't like this trend now because Chelsea's been doing it of the big baggy jeans because I think that right now Chelsea is the greatest that she's ever looked in all the years we've been together and I'm like I think you're wasting that beautiful body of yours.

01:43:59 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, but they're so comfy.

01:44:00 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 3:

She loves them. What is the thing with the jeans now are like big old baggy on the bottoms and stuff like that. Almost like bell bottom.

01:44:08 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 2:

Who cuts really wide?

01:44:09 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 3:

Is that what it is?

01:44:10 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 2:

What is it called? Stout? Wait, what are the... She said stout. No, no, no. She called you stout. The part of the fireplace. Oh, stovepipe. Stovepipe. Stovepipe. I was like, style is not right. It's not.

01:44:22 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:44:22 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

Whatever. I hate this job.

01:44:24 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Did Paige disconnect from us? Yes, she did. Paige, by the way, is just like our callers. They get so tired of just listening to us gab, so they just kind of go. Agree with Paige on, do you like the low-rise jeans or no? No.

01:44:36 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not. God, do we remember what happened with all the female celebrities in 2003? No, thank you. I think they were good. Don't bring back ED culture, please.

01:44:44 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

If you got the hips for it, they look amazing. Hold on a second, guys. I got to get music for this next TikTok person that we just picked up on the phone here. Because, ladies and gentlemen, on with us. Queen Bee is on with us right now. Okay. Queen Bee.

01:45:00 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 6:

What's happening?

01:45:01 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 1:

What's up? I reached out to you guys. I just, I mean, I know it's not really the topic that you guys are talking about, but I'm a single mom with two girls and currently battling stage 2 colon cancer. And I've been trying to reach out for, you know, just to make sure my girls have a Christmas because I'm currently fighting disability. Okay. And as of right now, for December, we might be homeless. Oh, man. To pay for that pay up.

01:45:36 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

01:45:36 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 1:

Just through November. I'm sorry I'm going to cry.

01:45:39 - 01:45:43 | Speaker 2:

It's okay. I have a resource for you. Can you give Lydia your info?

01:45:43 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 6:

Here's what I want you to do.

01:45:45 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

01:45:45 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 6:

Queen B. I want you to text right now. Queen B.

01:45:50 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 1:

I texted, but it didn't go through.

01:45:53 - 01:45:55 | Speaker 6:

Well, text 95500.

01:45:56 - 01:45:56 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:45:56 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Queen B.

01:45:58 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 1:

It's Nicole Moore. Sorry.

01:46:00 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 6:

Well, okay, but you shouldn't have done that, but that's okay. Queen B, and then we'll have your phone number, and we'll call you. Have you sent a letter to mojoswish.org?

01:46:11 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 1:

I have not. I did email you.

01:46:15 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so mojoswish.org, we'll give you all the info. So text us, Queen B, and then Shannon will share her resource, and we're going to see what we can do. Listen, here's our goal. Our goal is we're going to try to help as many people as possible. We do not want to see people out of their homes, okay, during the holidays. Okay?

01:46:38 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:46:38 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 6:

All right, so make sure you go 95500 and go ahead and do that. By the way, I give her props, man. If I'm battling right now, I'm jumping on a TikTok with Mojo in the morning and saying, guys, help me out. uh let's go to some calls here uh hillary or hannah hannah i don't know why i saw hillary hey hannah what's the trend you can't uh get on board with oh my gosh megan so i don't know if

01:47:04 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 4:

you have seen these but the stupid halara like pancake butt leggings are you talking about the one with the deep seam of the butt crack no not even those they have like circle seams on each of the cheeks but um they're waiting for like one specific body and all these other girls are trying them on and they just look oh these are i'm just looking them i also want to know who's

01:47:31 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 3:

going to the gym with their butt cheeks circled in seams they it's literally a big circle let me see it is yeah it's like please like i i never want to hear about the juicy couture velour track suits where we were writing juicy on our butts when you circle your butt cheeks Yeah, absolutely. Amen.

01:47:50 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 6:

Thanks, Hannah. What's going on, Nicole? How are you?

01:47:53 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you?

01:47:54 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 6:

Good. Nicole's got one I'm sure a lot of people will agree with. What's the trend that's way overrated?

01:48:00 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 4:

The Stanley Cups. The Simple Modern is so much better.

01:48:05 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Stanley Cups was the dumbest thing ever that people were fighting over them and they were all going, you know, these are the greatest cups ever when they weren't the greatest cups. and honestly when they first came out they were kind of cool because they seemed like they were cheaper than a yeti but to be honest they weren't any better than it i just don't understand where

01:48:23 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 3:

we've come in society where we see a on the cheap end 40 mug and go that's reasonable right right

01:48:31 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 6:

yeah and when the knockoff stuff that you can buy were just as good the target at the target ones

01:48:37 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 5:

are so good uh rachel what's up hi good morning guys good morning so the one i want to say is

01:48:46 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 3:

vera bradley purses i hang up on her why you love it i listen listen if you're a girl if you're a millennial girl you have a pattern okay i agree with you not all patterns are cute but everybody can find a pattern and back in the day mine was the black green yellow and white swirly ones and we all know what i'm talking about it was very very cute okay i had the duffel bag the backpacks the purses the wallets the lanyards i had them all but only in one print and i will not take your judgment in bullying how dare you i'm here to judge and bully other people no the huge it's

01:49:20 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 5:

like a huge satchel across your body and then the giant side bag with the floral design they are so

01:49:26 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 3:

ugly i rachel are you ready to judge me when i was in college no no no you can this is embarrassing This is how low I stooped in life. When I was in college, I didn't carry a backpack on campus. I carried a Vera Bradley diaper bag. How do I know it was a diaper bag? The pockets were lined with plastic. So if anything spilled in there, you could easily wipe it out. Let me tell you. Wow, wow, wow, wow. 10 out of 10 would recommend. You could throw that bad boy in the washing machine, babes.

01:49:54 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 6:

By the way.

01:49:54 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, I bet it had a lot of pockets. Yeah, that's right. It did.

01:49:57 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 6:

Diaper bags actually weren't so bad. I used to love diaper bags.

01:50:00 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 3:

I used to love carrying a diaper bag. You always got somebody that would come up to you and talk to you with the diaper bag. All right. And diaper bags, by the way, got way cooler for the kids nowadays. Oh, they're backpacks now. Oh, they're my greatest. Yeah. Amazing. Last one from Allison, and then I got to get to the dirty. What's up, Allison? What's the trend that you can't believe?

01:50:17 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. I absolutely hate the mesh shoes, the mesh flats, the mesh heels. Who would ever buy those? What's the boy? Say to Murphy.

01:50:26 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 3:

all right now it's getting personal now it's personal mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 we have gone an hour and 20 minutes no commercials come on man who does it like us trouble is we're going to do 85 minutes of commercials in a row coming up here in a second but i do have to let you know we've done it without phones we've done

01:50:52 - 01:51:00 | Speaker 4:

it without phones important to note because people are texting and asking this question No, we have not moved into our new studio. So, no, this is not what our show is going to sound like.

01:51:00 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 3:

No. Forever. This is our old studio.

01:51:02 - 01:51:03 | Speaker 4:

This is just for today.

01:51:04 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 3:

We're getting evicted from. They cut the line or something. So, they're still working on trying to get it. We're on TikTok. So, you can follow Emojo on the morning on TikTok. Shannon with Dirty. War of the Roses coming up. What's up, Shannon?

01:51:13 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 4:

Football star turned commentator Jason Kelsey stole the queen of Christmas crown from Mariah Carey. Guys, he just scored a number one hit.

01:51:23 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 3:

It's the worst song.

01:51:24 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 4:

On the holiday songs chart. This is iTunes. This is Billboard.

01:51:27 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 3:

I don't get the Jason Kelsey excitement level.

01:51:31 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 4:

So the song is called Maybe This Christmas. It's his new duet with Stevie Nicks. Here's a part of it. Oh my gosh. This is ruling the top 100 chart right now. All I want for Christmas is you is number two. Thank God. It's number two. We'd love to see it. For now. I'm sure it'll change. Do we like that song?

01:52:07 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't mind it. You like that song? I really do. I think Stevie Nicks is literally a genius, and her harmonies with him are great.

01:52:14 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 3:

Her, his harmonies?

01:52:15 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Let's talk about Jason Kelsey, though. No, no, no. He's not harmonizing. If you watch the behind-the-scenes recording video of it, it's super freaking cute. He can't sing. He admits that. Okay, there we go. And she goes, don't worry. I'll harmonize with you. You just sing and I've got you. And I think it's cute. It's for charity. I think it's a great project that they do. We need new holiday music. I love it.

01:52:36 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 3:

All that stuff was good with the charity situation, but the song trash.

01:52:40 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 2:

You don't like that? I ain't like that. Is that the only part you've heard?

01:52:42 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:52:43 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Listen to the whole song.

01:52:45 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:52:45 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:52:46 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 4:

I will.

01:52:47 - 01:52:47 | Speaker 3:

I will.

01:52:48 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 4:

All right. And Lady Gaga has officially joined the season two cast of Wednesday alongside Jenna Ortega. I don't know who she's going to play. I don't know anything about the character. I just know she is going to be a part of it. And they're in production. They've been filming in Ireland. The new episodes expected to premiere early next year. Other season two editions include Billy Piper and Steve Buscemi is going to be a part of it. I love Steve Buscemi. This time we're out. Yeah. And lastly, just a few weeks ago, Full House star and Michigan native Dave Coulier experiencing some sort of bad upper respiratory infection, caused his lymph nodes to swell. Then he noticed a lymph node in his groin suddenly growing to the size of a golf ball, went to the doctor, got a biopsy. Some further tests revealed he had cancer, specifically stage three non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

01:53:35 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 1:

In that time, I've had three surgeries. I've had chemo. I've lost a little bit of hair. I kind of look like a little baby bird now, but it has been a rollercoaster ride for sure.

01:53:47 - 01:54:08 | Speaker 4:

So some good news here. The cancer has not spread to his bone marrow, and that increases his chances of being cured into the mid-90s, which is amazing. He said he started chemo two weeks within learning of his diagnosis. Excuse me. His last treatment should wrap up in February, so we're sending our well wishes to him.

01:54:08 - 01:54:20 | Speaker 3:

That interview, by the way, was done on the Today Show with Hoda Coppy doing the interview with him. And they just announced who's going to take over for Hoda Coppy. Who is he? On the Today Show. It's going to be Craig Melvin is going to.

01:54:20 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so somebody from within. Yeah, so within.

01:54:21 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 3:

It's a dude?

01:54:22 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:54:23 - 01:54:26 | Speaker 3:

He's, so he will be Savannah's co-host. I know.

01:54:26 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 4:

I really do love it being two ladies. Well, yeah. But it's Savannah. They're great. Yes, I love them. You know I love them. I watch them every day.

01:54:35 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 3:

They already had Savannah there. And I think the reason why they did this also was, you remember, the reason they put the two of them together was because the whole Matt Lauer thing happened at that time.

01:54:45 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 4:

I know, but they've been doing so well.

01:54:47 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

And they did, well, they're still number, I think they're number two in the ratings still to Good Morning America. I don't think people watch the morning TV stuff as much as they used to in the day, but Good Morning America has got bigger ratings than both of those guys.

01:55:00 - 01:55:03 | Speaker 4:

Do we have as many stay-at-home parents anymore? Because that kind of makes sense.

01:55:03 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 2:

I think, honestly, nobody's watching TV anymore. They're all streaming, and they're listening to radio in their podcasts. So I think that, yeah.

01:55:11 - 01:55:17 | Speaker 5:

All right, for all of today's Dirty, you can listen to the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or mojointhewonning.com.

01:55:17 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 2:

Speaking of that, we're ending our TikTok live right now because we're going to go into a commercial break. We'll be right back with more Mojo in the Morning. Hopefully our phone lines are better, and we've got an update for you with War of the Roses next.

01:55:29 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 1:

Miss something in the dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at mojointhemorning.com.

01:55:40 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Great job, you guys. That was a great last run segment here. Everybody working their butts off, sweating. You know what's wild is it's kind of like in a game, like when you come to the bench, what we need to have in our new building and new studio and stuff you know when you come to the bench you got the guy that's behind you that puts a towel on your you know back or something like that or gives you like the Gatorade bottle the squirt bottle we need that like as we come back from you know being on the air for as long a time as we possibly are and doing it without commercial

01:56:16 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 4:

01:57:34 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 3:

It's come in a green box.

01:57:37 - 01:57:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes, they come in a green box.

01:57:38 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 3:

They're like butter flavored. They're incredible. They are incredible. My grandma used to have those and I used to eat all of them with some cranberry juice. That was like my snack.

01:57:47 - 01:57:56 | Speaker 5:

Did you guys ever remember the chicken and a biscuit cracker in the blue box? No, no. Do you know what I'm talking about? Yeah. They had this flavor. I don't...

01:57:56 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 2:

I got to be gluten-free right now, and it's so hard because that's like a tough go. It's a tough putt to do those things, but they have the Simple brand or whatever the heck it is, or it's like almond flour or something like that. Oh, I like the Simple Milks. I like those. Yes, they're so good. Yeah. You know what? By the way, our show has come down to now us talking crackers when we're sitting there having drinks and things. but um i used to uh i'm gonna move from crackers now to snack sausages my new thing that i'm really obsessed with now do you ever get the little salamis that have a piece of cheese on the inside of them or whatever they're like rolled you never do those things i don't like things that are stuff it's no it's like it's a piece of salami wrapped around a piece of cheese and And they put them in there and they have like.

01:58:52 - 01:58:53 | Speaker 5:

They put them at like anywhere, Kroger.

01:58:54 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 2:

And it looks like just a bunch of dicks inside.

01:58:56 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 5:

No, it's like little roll-ups. It's little roll-ups that you can put for a snack or lunch.

01:59:00 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I love those things. Slimey roll-ups. But the problem is like Chelsea will buy them so that, you know, we will have them around for like quick little snackies. I eat the entire thing in one day. I'm telling you. Like I go one day and it's gone.

01:59:13 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 3:

Charcuterie boards are where it's safe.

01:59:15 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 5:

I could eat a charcuterie board for a different charcuterie board for every meal. I'm the happiest person alive.

01:59:20 - 01:59:28 | Speaker 3:

Man, even the ones, I remember the first time I had a charcuterie board that had like the little orange, like little fruit, but it's like a dried fruit type of thing. Like apricot.

01:59:28 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 4:

Maybe that's what it was. It's apricot. My mind was blown. We got to call Wes and have him say charcuterie board.

01:59:33 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 2:

How does he say it? He can't say it? That's funny. My favorite is when people think that they're saying it right and they don't, because they don't know how to say it.

01:59:42 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 3:

They say it's so fancy.

01:59:42 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 2:

No, they, charcuterie boards. Like something like that.

01:59:46 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 3:

Remember my man's on Hard Knocks?

01:59:48 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:59:48 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if I can say it.

01:59:49 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 2:

My buddy Alan Was like not excited His wife signed them up For a charcuterie board class

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay

02:00:00 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 4:

It was some class that they drove to some place downriver and they went to this lady who taught them how to do charcuterie boards. He was like, are you kidding me? It was like a Saturday, college football Saturday. He's going to the thing. Now when I talk to the guy, all the guy talks about are charcuterie boards.

02:00:18 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because he's amazing at it, I bet.

02:00:20 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 4:

Do you ever have that happen to you? Your spouse wants you to go do girl things or dumb things, is what I like to say. and you go you don't want to go and you're complaining about the idea like i gotta go to this thing whatever you know thank god it was raining on that day you know it's like whatever okay i'll do it you go and now next thing you know you're the expert at whatever it was that they asked you to do chelsea wanted us to do one time like a pottery

02:00:45 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 5:

class thing once and it was like you would love it i'm telling you these are the things you poo poo on and then you come in the next morning you guys all know he does this you it's dumb

02:00:56 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 3:

What's that place called?

02:00:58 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 6:

That famous pottery place here? I think is how you say it. I think I say it wrong. I love the pottery barn.

02:01:08 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Hold on. Hey, Wes.

02:01:11 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 5:

Don't say it.

02:01:12 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 4:

What is the name of the appetizer-y thing that Shannon puts out that has salamis and cheeses and crackers and stuff on it? What's that called?

02:01:23 - 02:01:23 | Unknown:

A shard.

02:01:24 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 3:

Wait, hold on. Your phone cut out. What is it? A shark board. A shark board. No, that's not it.

02:01:29 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 7:

He won't say it because he says it so wrong. Say it. Come on. Let me hear you say it. Say it. I don't know how to say it.

02:01:34 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 4:

Just try it. Try it.

02:01:37 - 02:01:37 | Unknown:

Shark.

02:01:38 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 7:

My mouth doesn't do it, though. It's like charcuterie board. Okay, so now you said it. Perfect. That was good.

02:01:42 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 5:

So normally he's... God darn it. The one time you say it right, I want you to say it wrong. He normally says charcuterie. Yeah. Charcuterie. Charcuterie board. Charcuterie board. Chartreuse.

02:01:54 - 02:01:54 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:01:55 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 4:

Why do they not just call it what it is and call it cheese and meat?

02:01:59 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, right? I was telling them how when you came home yesterday, there was a box of wheat thins on the counter, and you were like, wheat thins! Like, it was the best thing in the whole entire world.

02:02:08 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 4:

You get excited over them, don't you? Oh, yeah. Treat. Yeah.

02:02:13 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 5:

Can you tell that everything's broken today, that we're talking about crackers?

02:02:17 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez.

02:02:17 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 7:

Sorry, guys.

02:02:19 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 4:

It is. Our phones, everything is, like, off. Our internet is bad. I don't know if Shannon shared that with you yesterday. That was bad.

02:02:27 - 02:02:29 | Speaker 7:

She did burn everything.

02:02:31 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Shannon's obsessed with Cheez-Its and Goldfish, right? Do you guys have just cabinets full of that stuff at home, or is this just at work?

02:02:38 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 7:

Cereal's the big one. Cereal is the big one. Not Kellogg's.

02:02:44 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 1:

What kind of cereal are you into?

02:02:46 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 7:

Any sugary, color-y ones that I won't even go into in the cabinet. I have my own cabinet. I'm not allowed to go in those ones.

02:02:53 - 02:02:56 | Speaker 4:

What did you say, not Kellogg's? What did you say? Or Kellogg's? Not Kellogg's. Why not Kellogg's?

02:02:57 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 5:

Until they take out all the crap that they're feeding our kids in Kellogg's. No Kellogg's.

02:03:01 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Oh, look at you. We got RFK Jr. in the studio.

02:03:06 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 5:

Guys, if we didn't have a cereal thing every night. Go down the food dye rabbit hole. I got it.

02:03:12 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 4:

I got it. I got you there.

02:03:14 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 6:

It's eatable cereal.

02:03:15 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 5:

Janet, why do I sound like that?

02:03:19 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 3:

This is RFK Jr.

02:03:21 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 5:

No, trust me. No. We are not allowed to talk politics.

02:03:26 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 4:

Charcuterie board. I want to hear RFK Jr. say charcuterie board. See you, Wes. See you, guys. Bye, love. All right, my man. What's up, Jessica? How you doing?

02:03:35 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 6:

Hi. First time caller, long time listener.

02:03:38 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Jessica's on the phone. What's going on?

02:03:43 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 6:

Not much. But you guys are talking about the charcuterie boards. My boyfriend likes to call them coochie boards. Coochie boards. Yeah.

02:03:52 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 4:

Coochies.

02:03:53 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 6:

I would have been saying that if I knew we could say that.

02:03:55 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 4:

Actually, I know people say charcoochie. That's the other one, too.

02:03:59 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 6:

Don't say other versions. Sometimes that's how you say it, too. It depends. It depends on how drunk he is.

02:04:06 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Kevin's excited. He knows he can say coochie now. I had no idea you could say coochie. We used to have a song. Remember that song? No. It used to be. Hold on. Hold on. Where is the song? Y'all have not told me we could say coochie.

02:04:18 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 6:

I don't know why you say the P word when you could say coochie. I had no idea. I thought it was off limits. But you can't say that one. You cannot say that one.

02:04:27 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 3:

Roto-rooter.

02:04:28 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 6:

The see you next Tuesday? Yeah, that's also very much off the table. No, no, no, you can definitely not say that.

02:04:34 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 4:

By the way, can you imagine if that's what the board was?

02:04:38 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:04:44 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 4:

Angel thinks that her boyfriend is cheating. it all involves a potential bit of money that's come your way? Explain this to us.

02:04:57 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so...

02:05:00 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 3:

You know, we were splitting the rent, and then he lost his job, like, eight months ago. And so he's pretty much stopped chipping in. And then all of a sudden, he started paying his half, and then he's paid other lesser bills lately, too. So, yeah, I asked him where, you know, he's getting the money from, and he said Parlay's been, like, hitting on sports betting apps. so yeah i went so do you not do you not believe that that's how he's getting the money no definitely not i i and yeah i mean so basically i'm not proud of it but i did go through his phone because he has been locked up for drugs before and you know so you so you

02:05:47 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 2:

started assuming you started thinking that he was back to his old business yeah exactly and i just

02:05:54 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 3:

wanted to see if he was doing that again and I was worried, so yeah, I went in his phone and I found a bunch of Venmo's from a woman named and I don't know what's going on. How much money are we talking about for these Venmo's? You know, hundreds of dollars. Each? You know, like $400, $500.

02:06:21 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 1:

And do you, like, how long have you been with him do you know that this isn't maybe a family member that could be

02:06:26 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 3:

helping out we've been together for two years so he doesn't really have quick question yeah

02:06:38 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 2:

would you think that maybe he's doing drugs again and he's doing it and there's a woman that he's doing he's giving drugs to or do you think like what would be the worst what would be horrible for you i'm sure that both would be bad but would you rather he'd be back to his old tricks of doing drugs again or something going on between him and this person he's been mowing back and forth with

02:07:00 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 3:

i don't want it to be either thing i mean yeah like you said both things are horrible for him but i mean if i'm being really honest like i if he's being unfaithful and this is a cheating situation then then that is going to be really painful and i don't know if our relationship

02:07:19 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 2:

can continue we talked before on our show about you know people who make money through sex and you know only fans and all that stuff and a lot of our listeners actually understood why they were doing it you obviously don't want him dabbling in any of that stuff

02:07:38 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 3:

no i mean also it's like it would be one thing if he was doing it and we had a conversation about it but all the sneakiness just makes me think that something is, you know, that he's cheating and I just, you know, that's going to be a deal breaker for me.

02:07:57 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 1:

Understandably.

02:07:57 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of nice, though, getting your bills paid, though, right? And him paying his share?

02:08:04 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but not at that cost. I'd rather just be doing it and not be, you know...

02:08:11 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 2:

So you'd rather take care of him than have him doing this?

02:08:15 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:08:16 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So just asking the question. Let's find out what's going on. We're going to call him up. And we're actually going to, you got the number of this person that he's Venmoing back and forth with. And we're going to have them both think that each other is calling when we do a three-way call. We dial them both up at the same time. Mute your phone so he doesn't hear or she doesn't hear another person on the phone line.

02:08:43 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:08:44 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 2:

All right. War of the Roses. It's a three-way.

02:08:59 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:09:00 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

02:09:01 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah?

02:09:03 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 5:

Hello? Oh, hey. Oh, hey, you.

02:09:10 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 3:

I didn't recognize this number. What's up?

02:09:13 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, nothing much. I'm going to get my hair and nails done later.

02:09:21 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah?

02:09:22 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 3:

You got plans tonight?

02:09:25 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

No. You've got to look good, you know. I could make plans, though. Want to come by? You know, I can't tonight. Oh. Okay. Huh? Maybe this weekend, then? Um... Yeah, I'll have to check. Oh, yeah. You're making me work for it, huh? No, no, no, no.

02:10:00 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 3:

i just i just have a bunch of things going on you got that money i sent you right yeah i got it well um maybe i'm sorry i what is going on i'm so confused right now are you kidding me hello hello hello this is angel travis's girlfriend yeah travis hello hello we have some talking to do

02:10:39 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 1:

angel hold angel if you can you're supposed to mute your phone what is there somebody still on the phone line

02:10:47 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 3:

i'm here i'm here angel quiet who is that who are you who who are you is the question who is

02:11:02 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 1:

who is this who are you this is the mojo in the morning show and we're a radio show that was trying to find out what's going on with travis his girlfriend angel is on the phone with us right now and was thinking that he's cheating on her angel we probably didn't need you jumping on so fast and i know that it's tough for us to say that when you're listening to your love of your life talking to another person but we didn't get much out of that nor know exactly who the hell that person is and what is going on.

02:11:42 - 02:11:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, I'm sorry, but, I mean, you heard what they were saying, so obviously something's going on, and it's a little hard to, you know. I understand.

02:11:48 - 02:11:53 | Speaker 2:

We get that, but we can get a lot more information if you would have stayed quiet, but.

02:11:54 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 1:

And it sounds to me like there's something up with, obviously, him taking care of her and her sending him money. I mean, that's obvious, but who is she?

02:12:06 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 2:

She sounds significantly older to me.

02:12:07 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 1:

She did sound older.

02:12:09 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 2:

She got grandkids.

02:12:12 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 1:

Angel, I'm going to put you on hold here for one second, and we're just going to talk for a second, and we're going to try to see if we can get him back on the phone.

02:12:18 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:12:19 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 1:

All right, hang on the phone.

02:12:21 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

02:12:24 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 1:

Don't miss this.

02:12:26 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:12:27 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 1:

When we come back here next, is he cheating with her, or is this somebody that he's just getting money for doing all kinds of fun stuff? Your comments, a lot of theories, a lot of people already getting through to us. We want to hear what you have to say. You can text 95500 or...

02:12:48 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 2:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. This is Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:12:59 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 3:

I absolutely love it.

02:13:01 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:05 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning show. That was an interesting three-way call to listen to because it was like we were calling Travis his grandma or something or mom or something on there. Although I got to be honest with you, she's paying some cash and he's accepting it. I have to ask this question because we have often let women off on using their sexual prowess to get themselves some cash. through, obviously, OnlyFans and things like that. Are we being too judgmental by saying that he's a cheater for what he is doing right now? He's trying to put money on the table and pay some of the bills.

02:13:45 - 02:13:53 | Speaker 2:

No, because we've always been supportive when it was consensual, and obviously the girl here didn't know.

02:13:53 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Angel's not a fan of it, obviously. You mean like the relationship, the person in a relationship. Right, right, right, right. Because obviously the woman that we were talking to seems very consensual. She was more consensual. Michelle, what are your thoughts with War of the Roses this morning? Hi.

02:14:11 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 2:

Can you hear me?

02:14:12 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 1:

I got you. What's going on?

02:14:14 - 02:14:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So I 100% think that she's aware that the woman in question is aware that this man has a girlfriend. By the way, she reacted to him saying he was busy tonight and this weekend and whatever. She kind of like giggled. To me, that makes me believe that she 100% knows that she has a girlfriend.

02:14:37 - 02:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Although she did seem shocked, obviously. I would be shocked, too, if the girlfriend's on the phone and you didn't know that that was going on. But she was very shocked, just like he was shocked, that somebody else was on the phone line. But you're right. I think you're right with that. It's kind of like she's like, okay, I know I got him only on the times I can get him, right?

02:14:54 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. And there's some people who are okay with that if they've been lonely long enough.

02:15:00 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 5:

And I think she's sending him money to try to keep him around because I do know a lot of people who have done that. Really? So it's not an uncommon thing.

02:15:09 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 1:

Women that have done that or guys that are doing that?

02:15:11 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Oh, yes. I personally have had friends who know a guy is cheating or know a guy may not be all in, but they stay and try to keep him in as much as they can just because they don't want to be alone.

02:15:26 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay. SZA made a song about that. It's called The Weekend. You take Wednesday, Thursday. I take Friday.

02:15:32 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 1:

Which day would you want? Friday for sure. No Sundays. I'm watching football.

02:15:36 - 02:15:36 | Speaker 2:

Right.

02:15:37 - 02:15:38 | Speaker 1:

Delaney, what's going on?

02:15:39 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I hate to admit it, but I think he is doing it just to get the money.

02:15:45 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. I don't think it's love.

02:15:48 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 4:

I really don't. The way he backtracks so fast when she actually wanted to hang out made it seem like he's just doing it to get the money.

02:15:58 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't make it any easier If his girlfriend

02:16:00 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 4:

No absolutely not And I agree with The last caller That the lady Did sound like She knew that he had Somebody else And could only Spend time with him When he could

02:16:13 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah Yeah

02:16:15 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 4:

I don't think anything Is like actually going on Because he backtracked So fast

02:16:20 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 1:

Do we just assume That this is a A sugar mama that we're talking about? Yeah, that's what I'm getting. How do you find Sugar Moms? I wonder where he found her. I don't know. I want to try to find one for Zach. Rico, what's happening? It's Mojo. How are you, buddy? Good, how are you doing? Doing okay, Rico. I'm kind of interested in this whole Travis situation. I don't know, when you hear that, Rico, does it sound like something that would intrigue you? Would you ever want to be in a situation, like, you know, have a Sugar Mama paying your bills?

02:16:55 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 6:

No, not really. and it's just nothing but a headache.

02:16:58 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Really? You want to earn your money the honest way?

02:17:02 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, 100%.

02:17:04 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 1:

Liar. Go ahead. What are your comments?

02:17:09 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 6:

I think she's a sugar mama. Honestly. Yeah.

02:17:12 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 3:

But still cheating. Sugar mama still equals cheating.

02:17:16 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 6:

It does, 100%.

02:17:17 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Okay, I thought you were saying it's just a sugar mama not cheating.

02:17:21 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 2:

No, no, it's still cheating.

02:17:22 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 3:

Still counts.

02:17:23 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 2:

Is it cheating if he's not sleeping with her?

02:17:26 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 3:

I think when you are still having any sort of relationship on the side of the relationship that you are in and keeping it a secret, that to me counts as cheating.

02:17:35 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I agree. Whether it's communication or whether it's sexual, if your girl or your man don't know about it, it's 100% cheating.

02:17:43 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 2:

What if he looks at it? Here's the thing. What if he looks at it as a job? Like she said, he's looking for money. He's not employed right now. He's trying to help out around the house. He can't find it. He should be telling his girl about it.

02:17:54 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 6:

If it's a job, he would tell his girl about it, and he'd have more than one person giving him money.

02:17:58 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, say, for example, that your girl doesn't want you to, I don't know, do OnlyFans or whatever like that. It's a job because you have a source of income, but she's just not happy with the way that the money is provided. If he's a dancer and they talked about stripping, and she's like, I don't want you to do that, but it's what he can do. It's his skill set. How is that wrong? I have to look at it like this. Was he doing this before she came into the picture or after?

02:18:23 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 6:

I mean... If it was before, then she already knew about it.

02:18:27 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, if he was fat before and he lost weight and now he got a six-pack, then he probably is a stripper now. I don't know, bro. I ain't trying to offend nobody. That's why I'm trying to offend.

02:18:39 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I wanted to see how many more analogies you could come up with on this one. Rico, thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate it. But I have to tell you, I normally, like when I get a cheater in War of the Roses, I feel for the person. And I'm thinking to myself, as much as I feel for Angel on this one, I don't think his intentions are bad. His intentions, if they are to just try to have money and come up with money, I'd rather see him doing this than selling drugs. like I'd rather have him instead of risking you know what's going on risking what's happening legally if he's selling hard drugs like you know meth and stuff like that oh my god what do you think Shannon would you ever would you ever consider selling your soul to a to an older if you were a single single or you know what I guess this woman's not single either but

02:19:40 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 3:

no

02:19:41 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 1:

if times were tough be honest would you ever want

02:19:45 - 02:19:57 | Speaker 3:

I think I could get creative Jeff Sackler I'm going to see him today that's awkward I think I would get very creative with how I would make money but it wouldn't be this

02:19:57 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 1:

Leo what's going on it's Mojo in the morning what's happening where are the roses good morning um so i was thinking um even though it's not physical it's like a form of emotional cheating in my opinion because yeah he's you know connecting with somebody else and he's also hiding it from a significant other even if he's only doing it for money if it's something you have to hide it's something you're going to be doing in the first

02:20:25 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 5:

like yeah see i don't know you have too much common sense why are you listening to the show

02:20:30 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 4:

you're losing kev i'm good with that i'm good to fight along i'm just saying i think people sell things that maybe their spouse isn't okay with them doing i think like you say as hard as

02:20:41 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 3:

your romance no but okay whatever but when there's another person involved in it yeah then technically that's a relationship it might not be a sexual relationship but it's still a relationship that's being hidden. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like the selling things. You're going to sell pure romance for me. Good for you.

02:20:58 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, and again, I'm defending the other side because I'm trying to look out for him because I think he's doing this to look out for his family.

02:21:09 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. There are other ways. Yeah.

02:21:12 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 4:

He's been trying.

02:21:13 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 5:

Listen to the War of the Roses. It's available on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get podcasts. Just search War of the Roses and then look for Travis's Sugar Mama. That's what we'll call it.

02:21:26 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 2:

The home of the second date update. Throwback throwdown. War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:21:34 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, man, I will. We, for those that are just tuning in right now, still don't have our phone lines back to it. And that means that our contests are crazy right now. So here's what I'm going to do. But I'm going to randomly give people who are just hanging out with us for the rest of the show the prizes that we haven't given away this morning. So we have not given away a 730, 830, and 930 jingle ball, which I can't because I can't say 95th caller because our phone lines aren't working. but the way that you can hang out with us is if you are somebody that uh you know might comment on a text or be on the air with us i can gift you a gift you know i can give you a prize like possibly one of those jingle ball tickets or possibly you're ready for this one i can give that florida qualification the fifty dollar qualification because i got to get a qualifier and then i want to remind you that if our phones are up and running tomorrow we're giving away a trip to or not a trip but we're giving away a thousand dollar gift card to go use towards lions tickets oh my god yeah why did they just do it like that and why did you do that because nine and one man i know they're playing the jacksonville jaguars should be an easy dub who's the the the guy that looks like big bird that's their quarterback trevor lawrence trevor lawrence former number one out of clemson so we we're giving you a chance tomorrow so hopefully we got our stuff up and running like literally mark has been oh did that just ring it rang do it again hold on let me try to call let's see i think i think our phone lines might quite possibly be back which means if that's the case we're doing the prices right here we're going to be giving away all these prizes here to the people that listen like see if this rings i'm calling our stations all right pick up lines and see if any of these in the morning hi is this mojo in the morning yes no taylor said tickets hi hi oh hey hey hey wait my phone lines are ringing do you

02:23:44 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 1:

guys want to hear hold on oh my god yeah we are so bad makovic

02:23:55 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 5:

mark makovic got it back is that unbelievable by the way give this man where is where is Bob Pittman at. We're naming our next studio, the Mark Makovich studio. Mark literally ran faster than I've ever seen him run. He does not want to come in here. Wait, he doesn't want to come in?

02:24:17 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 3:

He ran in the other direction.

02:24:20 - 02:24:49 | Speaker 5:

KP, run after him. Run after him. Chase him down the hall. Mark, wait, hold on. Are these people, are you a live person? Yes, I am. Did you call 844-665-6548? 844-MOJO-LIVE? That's right. You got Jingle Ball tickets. We're giving you Jingle Ball tickets. We love you. Thank you. You got tickets. We'll give you a pair of tickets to go to our Jingle Ball, okay?

02:24:50 - 02:24:51 | Unknown:

All right. Sounds good.

02:24:51 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 5:

All right. So contests are back. So now here's what I'm going to do. You got to stick around because I'll give away another pair of tickets then after the dirty, and then we will have.

02:25:00 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 4:

have another pair of tickets coming up and then the last but not least florida trip our trip a day which we do at eight o'clock and we'll be back by the way mark sweat his ass off i'm i'm not gonna lie to you guys we are so blessed to have him hey man 99.9 percent of uh radio engineers would say eh call the call the helpline mark did that for us so i hope our bosses are listening mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 all right shannon what you got in this hour is dirty on

02:25:27 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 2:

to 30. What are we going to start with? Let's start with President-elect Donald Trump and President Joe Biden hanging out at the White House yesterday in the Oval Office in front of a roaring fire. That fire, like, went viral because it was so massive. Do you think a building that is that

02:25:46 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 4:

old, that is like a tinderbox, do you think they should have the gas on that fireplace as cranked

02:25:51 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 2:

up as they had that thing? It's so funny because we were watching it here in the studio with the sound off and we weren't even caring what they were talking about all all of us were just like look at the fire it's crazy fire but here's a little bit from that politics is tough and it's

02:26:05 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 1:

many cases not a very nice world but it is a nice world today and i appreciate very much a transition that's so smooth it'll be as smooth as it can get and i very much appreciate that

02:26:18 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 4:

you're welcome do you know that was weird is that the one thing that was pointed out by one of the networks was they did not know that uh trump got to the white house and usually you can see motorcades and stuff and they say that they think that the threat that's on him right now from iran is so great that the secret service is not doing motorcades and things like that like they think it's they're trying to be really secretive that was pointed out by one of the networks yesterday of they normally will have a he's on his way to the white house right now or they're they're doing this whole thing they've been really secretive about some of the the movement of him which that threat from iran is is very interesting that that's that's that's out there right now yeah

02:27:02 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 2:

glenn powell chatting with pat mcfee yesterday about those rumors that he's replacing tom cruise

02:27:07 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 4:

in the mission impossible movie franchise my mom would never let me do that kick it down everybody knows that that's a death that's a death that's a death trap he says it's not happening but thank

02:27:20 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 3:

God. Why? You don't think that he would be a good? I don't want to see him doing that. He doesn't give me action star hero mods. Are you kidding me? Really? No, I'm not kidding. Did you see Maverick? I did. He was okay in there. I feel like this is a different thing than Top Gun. This requires more athleticism. I'll be honest with you, I've never

02:27:38 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 2:

seen a Mission Impossible movie. You think Tom

02:27:39 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 3:

Cruise? He literally does his own stunts. Tom Cruise is like what is he, like 95 years old right now? He does his own stunts. I don't care how old he is. Did you see the last Mission Impossible? They about to drop the second part next year of something Reckoning. Aren't they on six

02:27:55 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 2:

or seven? This is five,

02:27:58 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 3:

but it's a two-parter. I don't see Glenn Powell doing that. Maverick, he was good in Maverick, but this is a different role.

02:28:04 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 4:

I like Glenn Powell.

02:28:05 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 3:

I love Glenn Powell. It felt like he was playing it off something. I was.

02:28:09 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 4:

I didn't have it plugged in, but it was so loud off my computer, I was just playing it off my computer.

02:28:14 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 3:

I was like, is this a little bit? I did this story earlier.

02:28:16 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

It's worth doing it again to get fans of the L.A. Dodgers were expecting a World Series championship shirt. Woo-hoo. Almost said a bad word. That was autographed by all of, you know, all of the players that are on the team. Well, that's not exactly what fans got. The autographs from Dodgers players on one of the championship shirts that you could buy on Fanatics, which I love Fanatics, they were actually signatures from the 2023 Texas Rangers championship teams. Not even the Dodgers. not even the right year fanatics made it up to fans by giving them another shirt and a 20 percent

02:28:52 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 4:

discount on their entire order as well you guys got to see uh fanatics is uh we're sending people to tampa when you land at the tampa airport their world headquarters is literally right there at the airport they that's how they're able to get the stuff out to you so fast and they're they own a entire humongous building it's literally a it's the fanatics stuff from them some cute line stuff from them i think the fanatics gear stinks you like it uh they're the stuff for the ladies i

02:29:18 - 02:29:26 | Speaker 2:

mean i found stuff there that i didn't find anywhere else that was kind of cute you have to watch that little cream sweatshirt i wear with the stars on it you have to watch if it says like

02:29:26 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 4:

i i like like the nike stuff and i like when it comes to like lions gear and i don't like it when it says fanatics brand because i usually get it and it usually is never sized it's it reminds me of sometimes buying the off-brand stuff on Amazon that sometimes it's hit or miss.

02:29:43 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 3:

Man, for the ladies, Erin Andrews got some really nice NFL merch. Really? Like that's hers? It's hers? Yeah. It's a girl named Nicole Kerwin who is a reporter for- Natalie. Natalie, yeah, my father's name Nicole. Natalie Kerwin is a reporter for FanDuel here. Yeah. And she was- Thank you.

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 2:

She just modeled for her, and they got some pretty cool stuff out there.

02:30:02 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I didn't realize that was Aaron Andrews' stuff.

02:30:04 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how about what they're doing? So, Valley Sports is no longer around, and FA, what is it, used to be Fox Sports, Detroit. It's now called FanDuel Sports. Yeah. Starting at the beginning of the year, you can pay-per-view whatever game you want instead of buying a package. So, if you want to buy, like, one game, you pay, like, $6 for, like, a Red Wings or a Pistons game. Do you guys think that that will be a big deal? Like, do you think people will buy, like, one game?

02:30:29 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 4:

I think people are sick of just paying for stuff. Yeah.

02:30:31 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 3:

Literally last night, I wanted to watch the Pistons play, and I saw the notification pop up on my phone of what you're saying. Pay for whatever, get whatever. And I just go to StreamEast and just stream it for free.

02:30:44 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:30:45 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 3:

Even with privacy, baby.

02:30:45 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 2:

So question, why don't they just go back to the days of selling advertising and letting us have it for free?

02:30:51 - 02:30:52 | Unknown:

I have no idea.

02:30:52 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 2:

Like they used to do back in the day.

02:30:53 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 3:

I thought when they got bought by Amazon Prime, it was going to be free through Prime. Yep. You still ice up. I pay for so much stuff.

02:30:59 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 2:

I think that all fell through. I think, honestly, I think that whole deal, cash-wise, blew up.

02:31:07 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 4:

Do I have time for two more quick stories? Quick, quick, quick.

02:31:09 - 02:31:11 | Speaker 2:

As long as one of them's not a Masked Singer story. It is.

02:31:12 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, of course. And honestly, I haven't done these.

02:31:14 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 2:

What is this? If I don't know who the celebrity is.

02:31:18 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 4:

So I haven't done it because the celebrity's been eh. But I love this film. So last night on the Masked Singer, we heard from the, I say Macaroon, but it's Macaron. Woo-hoo. I didn't even put in the follow-up clip because we're rushed for time here. Any guesses?

02:31:33 - 02:31:36 | Speaker 3:

No. No, we didn't. Athlete. Athlete.

02:31:36 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Simone Biles. No. Caitlin Clark. No, no, no. Professional surfer, Bethany Hamilton. Oh, my God. I wouldn't know. Can I ask a question? Yeah. Come on. Did her costume have one arm? Megan. I'm asking if that was a clue.

02:31:52 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:31:53 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I actually didn't watch it. By the way, you never let me answer my question. Do you have time for two more? You don't like Bethany Hamilton? I don't even know who she is. I wouldn't be able to pick her out of a crowd. Soul surfer.

02:32:04 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 4:

A shark bit her arm. Off.

02:32:06 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 2:

I know Nicole from FanDuel more than I know her.

02:32:08 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 4:

Her name's Natalie, so you're wrong on that, too. I know Natalie from FanDuel. And lastly, the T-Pain Mark Zuckerberg collab of this song right here has gone right for us. Mark Zuckerberg or now Z-Pain, as he's called, made this as a gift for his wife. their wedding anniversary this was the song that was playing at the harvard party when they met

02:32:31 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 2:

for the first time so if you are with the richest man in the world and the guy hires an artist to make a song for you is that enough of a gift or do you think he got her also like the most expensive cartier rolex or something probably yeah probably bought an island and named it after

02:32:48 - 02:32:54 | Speaker 4:

Ah, what is up with that? He gives us hope because we look at him and we say, aside from the tattoos and the great voice, I can look like that.

02:34:03 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You know? I'm excited for Jason Derulo. Yay!

02:34:34 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Thank you to Tanya Lalonde. And thanks for playing along there, Ben.

02:35:05 - 02:35:10 | Speaker 4:

Not a problem. I love you guys so much. I listen to you guys all the time. We love you, too. Finally won.

02:35:10 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 3:

We love you, buddy. Thank you, man. If you didn't get a chance this morning to listen to the show, listen to it because it just fell apart. It was just.

02:35:22 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 1:

It was so fun.

02:35:23 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 3:

It was.

02:35:24 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 1:

And very entertaining, I think.

02:35:25 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 3:

That's saved on TikTok, right? That's on our TikTok from this morning? us doing that so you can see everything going on in the studio no that doesn't save it doesn't save oh why does facebook make it that it does save i love that when you can go back and watch it because i wanted to watch a couple of times because you could see kp and i on this side trying to communicate with each other and the best was at one point kp is telling me a phone number to dial and i think you could hear it on the air i think she was going seven three four she's telling me. And I had my mic up the whole time and I want to know if you could have heard it because I want to know if that person got any phone calls because it was a person that had texted in that wanted to be on the air with us. All right. It's Mojo in the morning show. Let me get the legal ID in here and then we will continue on. We still have a good portion of the show left

02:36:20 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 2:

here for you. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

02:36:37 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. Kevin is looking for yet another job. He is going to be truly the Ryan Seacrest slash Steve Harvey of broadcasting. Because don't they all have, like, what does Steve Harvey have? Steve Harvey has Family Feud. He's got the radio show, and he's got, like, does he still do the Steve Harvey show or that show?

02:37:03 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 4:

No, he's got a talk show, and I believe he has a show where he's a judge.

02:37:06 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay. He's the judge, Steve. Yeah. And then Ryan Seacrest has Wheel of Fortune. He's got the I Heart stuff that he does.

02:37:15 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 1:

He's a producer for a million things.

02:37:17 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 3:

He does the countdown at New Year's. Okay, so what's the new job that you're thinking about?

02:37:23 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 4:

So I'm thinking of kind of just expanding my current role. So not trying to jump into a totally different field that's extremely random and something super out of left field. So like you mentioned, doing more things. One of the things that I'm already doing is hosting the Pistons games. So that is a 41 game season for me because I only do the home games. So I've been thinking, well, how can I extend that without physically going on the road? And one way is to stream. So I'm thinking about becoming a streamer, making a Twitch, and when the Pistons play away games, I'll watch those games live and interact with other people who are viewing. What's the problem? Well, okay, so I don't think there's a problem. But some people feel like at 34 years old, you're too damn old to be a streamer. Bro, I stream every day. All right. you're saying i'm too old to do i'm not saying this some people say yeah i'm gonna say this josiah mama so josiah josiah got the the max set up in his room and all that because he likes to do what he likes to do so i went into his room in order to stream because he has all the capabilities but i don't know his password like that so when i called his mom last night to get his password obviously she was listening because she had him on speakerphone which i don't know sometimes that be making me feel weird but this was okay that's a great topic for another day you know yeah let's let's get into that we'll get into that um but yeah she like you're too old to be streaming i'm like come on bro i'm not too old you're never too old to make some money have fun so do you okay so

02:39:06 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 1:

forgive me yeah like how much money you're talking you can make from doing that i don't know i think

02:39:10 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 4:

it's looking at me like a lot i think it's like so kysonette is not a lot of i know who kysonette yeah and he makes i would say a f ton of money it's off of how many followers you have right they'll pay you off of that i think so like when we were on tiktok earlier people were giving us

02:39:26 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 2:

like roses right but we're not allowed that so that's just allegedly so well question right

02:39:32 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 3:

question for you i think that you're a perfect person for this uh because you are the in stadium announcer for the Pistons and you make a Pistons game more fun would you do it that way like would you like do it where you hype it up and like it would be energy or are you just sitting there watching giving your perspective because I've never heard your you know your take on Pistons could you and also you work for the Pistons Pistons yeah I hate when I watch first off I hate watching Pistons games what no offense but I feel like their announcers aren't as uh um because they're getting paid by the team they're not as hard on the team as they should be sometimes and the Pistons are playing good basketball right now don't get me wrong but when they were sucking win last uh last few years I'm like I want to see those guys throw chairs like I want to see Bob Knight no who is who it's George Blaha and Greg Kelser. I want to see Greg Kelser literally go, enough! I can't take this any longer. You know what I mean? I want Rip Hamilton to fill in one of those seats. Oh, he would be great. Why don't you get Rip Hamilton to be your co-host on this? I was going to say, that would be really interesting if you got some other people

02:40:45 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 4:

to co-host with you or co-stream with you. That's low-key fire. Somebody get Rip on the phone.

02:40:53 - 02:41:04 | Speaker 3:

I think that... Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I think this would be a good thing. First off, I think that you'd be good. But would the Pistons be okay with you doing this as a contracted employee by them?

02:41:04 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 4:

I don't believe, and I'm very good at reading my contracts and knowing what I can and can't do. I don't believe in the non-compete area it doesn't have anything.

02:41:13 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 3:

I'll have to reread it. Is it true that you, because you work for the Pistons, you cannot gamble on NBA basketball? Correct. Or WNBA basketball. Somebody told me that that was the case with the NFL also. So guys at work, can concession stand workers not gamble on stuff?

02:41:30 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 4:

I think they can because they're hired through LCA and not the team. But I also can't what they consider tipping. So if I have extra access is how they like to phrase it, so I can know the inner working. So if so-and-so is beefed out with his girl, oh, take the under tonight. You know what I mean? Or he didn't show up and practice or shoot around, take the under tonight. Or so-and-so is playing, but they're injured. Yeah.

02:41:54 - 02:41:58 | Speaker 3:

Charlie, what do you think of this? Kev's new idea that he's thinking about doing.

02:41:59 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

I think it would be a great idea, but I don't think the problem is with him being 35 or however old he is streaming. I think it would be more with the NBA doing something.

02:42:20 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 3:

He's confused by his radio there.

02:42:22 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 2:

with like viewing you know like other people watching the game live with you like i don't think you you would be allowed to stream the game right right so that part is that part is illegal

02:42:42 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 4:

you can't show the actual live footage of the game but you can have the audio playing in the You can react to it.

02:42:49 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 3:

You can react, yeah. Angie, what did you have to say? Hi, Angie.

02:42:56 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how are you?

02:42:58 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, good. What's going on?

02:43:00 - 02:43:06 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, if you don't get that streaming thing together, if you can do it legally, boy, I will come whoop you myself.

02:43:07 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 3:

Why? Why do you say that?

02:43:09 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 1:

Because I think it's a great idea. We all got to have multiple streams of income, bro. And streaming is the thing right now. I am 52 years old. I have a 31-year-old daughter who I was literally just talking to about starting an old Lady Gamer channel.

02:43:27 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 3:

Not an OnlyFans? You won't do OnlyFans?

02:43:30 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 1:

No, I might with my feet. That's about it.

02:43:33 - 02:43:51 | Speaker 3:

By the way, are there any people that do this, like, you know, stream in OnlyFans and they're over the age of 30? Because it was, I don't know if you heard it, But it was Josiah's mom, Kev's son's mom, that is the one that said he's too old for this. Yeah, Jasmine.

02:43:51 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 1:

I heard it. And I'm like, but if he start banking on this idea, she's going to want a little extra in that child support. You hype this man. I hope she's listening. If you don't hype your baby daddy up and have him get this money, you tripping, girl.

02:44:09 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 3:

All right, so I want to know if there are any – do we have any over the age of 50 OnlyFansers out there somewhere? Because I feel like there's a lot of 30-plus OnlyFans.

02:44:20 - 02:44:31 | Speaker 4:

And shout-out to Jasmine because I'm not on child support, and she could have went crazy back in the day. That's another topic. The judge was in there going crazy. Like, you don't want to put him on – man, the judge was after me. Are you serious? I swear, bro.

02:44:31 - 02:44:38 | Speaker 3:

So wait, so you guys just pay for – you pay for Josiah out of the goodness of your own hearts, not court order?

02:44:39 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, whatever Joe needs, Joe gets. Like, he's never won it for anything.

02:44:42 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 3:

That actually, I'll be honest with you, that's a wonderful thing that you guys do.

02:44:46 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, for real, she stood up on that.

02:44:47 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 3:

By the way, if Jasmine's listening, I'll represent you. Bridget, what's going on, Bridget? How you doing?

02:44:55 - 02:45:35 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm great. I do social content creator stuff on... on Facebook and they do pay me you can make there's people out there that make 10,000 plus dollars a month on there and when I first started doing it last year you could see how much you can make and it was 10,000 and then it went up to like 50,000 but now you can't see exactly you know there's like a I can't think what it's called a chart on there that shows you like where you're at on the chart and i've made last month was my highest month i made 75 bucks posting things on

02:45:35 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 3:

social media i mean that's not a whole lot but hey it's more than zero exactly it's something

02:45:40 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 1:

it's something and before that last year i posted do you guys know who eastside allen is from toledo ohio yes from eastside okay so anyways he was on on patrol um we've actually talked we've been mentioned before on the show oh well i usually watch it and i'll go live on facebook with it so or i'll record it well i happen to record the episode of him and he's outside of walmart or not walmart walgreens waiting for the bus and he um he's drinking a beer i think it was the milwaukee's and he's wearing a batman costume that that reel went viral and I got like $44 then. And that's why. It all adds up. They didn't take that bonus from me. They were like, well, they didn't take the bonus. They said I couldn't make money on Reels no more.

02:46:35 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 4:

Who's the guy, by the way, who's the guy that's one of our listeners in the listening audience that goes up to people and gives them money for contests and stuff like that? Oh, man. You know what I'm talking about, Lydia? Remember the guy, it's the guy that there's a guy that, you know, he always walks up to people And he does the real heartwarming stuff Where he We've always wanted him on the show And he's from here Is he the guy that takes kids to Sporting events? He does like the most random acts Of kindness stuff And he's from, it's unbelievable It makes me cry every time I see it But I had no idea that he's from here And somebody said that he's commented before On some of our stuff But it's one of those ones where it's like Out of the blue he'll go Hey, what's going on? You know, do you want to be in a contest? I'm going to do this. And he gives you like, like randomly give you like five grand or something like that. You're like, holy crap. And these people are just sobbing. That's going to be my thing. My thing is going to be, I'm going to go out, but I'm not going to give, I'm going to give trade from our trade department here.

02:47:41 - 02:47:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, but not the trade I thought you were going to say.

02:47:44 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 4:

Buddy's pizza trade. To be like, buddies, I'm going to hand out like whatever trades that we have here. You know how we always get free food sometimes, but it's always the same place because they're the only ones that trade us? I'm going to be the trade man. It's going to be Trading Tom.

02:47:57 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 3:

Trading Tom.

02:47:58 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Dana?

02:48:01 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's going on? I was just trying to tell Kev that I drive truck for a living, but on the side, I stream video games.

02:48:08 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay. While you're driving truck?

02:48:09 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 3:

I like that money, bro. No, no, when I'm not driving truck.

02:48:12 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I want to see you do it while you're driving truck across the road. I want to see that.

02:48:18 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 3:

But, no, I mean, it's easy money if you can entertain, and, Kevin, you're pretty entertaining, so I think you'll be successful with that, man.

02:48:27 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine Dana, the driver here, with a bunch of lot lizards streaming?

02:48:33 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:48:35 - 02:48:36 | Speaker 4:

That would be amazing.

02:48:36 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 3:

I do got a video.

02:48:38 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 4:

Of what?

02:48:42 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 3:

This dude getting out of another truck driver's truck, and, man, it was...

02:48:47 - 02:48:51 | Speaker 4:

Wait, a dude? Like that way? Was he giving them like...

02:48:51 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes, that way. Really? That way, Shannon. Really? Yes. He got out holding his behind.

02:48:57 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 2:

No. Hold on.

02:48:59 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 3:

Gay sex.

02:49:00 - 02:49:02 | Speaker 2:

Am I supposed to believe you for real?

02:49:02 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. The guy was holding his behind.

02:49:04 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 3:

Hey, listen.

02:49:05 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 4:

You have that video. That video is going to go viral.

02:49:08 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 3:

What the heck is this?

02:49:10 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 4:

You could do what goes on in the lot. Although Megan might take you on the lot lizard thing. She's a big fan of hanging out at, not hanging out like that, but you actually have said that truck driving lots is your aspiration in life, right? To hang out as a lot lizard?

02:49:27 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 2:

First of all, don't know what I do with my free time. Oh, you already are doing it? Please. There's a pilot halfway back to Toledo. It's like a nice little warm comfort area. Do I go home to my own apartment or do I go home to my dad and cry about my life choices? But also, that's my retirement plan for when I eventually get fired from here. You can find me at your local truck stop, baby. By the way, shout out.

02:49:49 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 4:

Wait, hold on. You did your own.

02:49:52 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 2:

I hear that and I come running. By the way, shout out to pilots, by the way.

02:49:58 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Pilots are the greatest. They got everything in there.

02:50:00 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Brittany? You there?

02:50:01 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, showers, too, in between clients.

02:50:03 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 3:

Brittany.

02:50:05 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 5:

Wait, Whitney?

02:50:06 - 02:50:07 | Speaker 3:

Whitney. Yes, Whitney.

02:50:08 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:50:09 - 02:50:09 | Speaker 3:

What's up?

02:50:11 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 5:

I'm 30 in a few months. I do OnlyFans, and I also stream just video games. Nothing like loot or anything like that. That's what you do on your OnlyFans? No, I do them separately. So they're completely different.

02:50:26 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 3:

Which one makes more money?

02:50:26 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 5:

um honestly like the only fans just because i don't have as big of a following but if kevin did it honestly he would do really well because he already has a following from mojo in the morning and like the other stuff that he does so if he did sign up and like make a twitch and start creating on there as well i think it would be one fun and like everyone loves kevin so it's like

02:50:48 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 3:

what do you what do you do on only fans um just like lewd content try on stuff like that kevin people would pay you to try underwear on more than once a week is that what you're trying

02:51:04 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 4:

on with me yeah sometimes oh boy can you give me some some tips on like how to start this

02:51:12 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 5:

like on twitch yeah um i mean

02:51:17 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 2:

let's see or how about only fans i want to see kevin only fans i'm assuming you just start a twitch and then share your name on all of the other channels you have and then just share like

02:51:30 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 5:

when you're live just like you guys do on like one day in the morning like you'll post like on your story and be like hey we're live or hey the game's on tomorrow catch me live then yeah i mean

02:51:38 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 3:

like creative tips. Try it. Try it a few times. Hold on real quick. Terry's on with us. Terry, what did you

02:51:44 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 1:

do? I was at work and a bunch of the guys were on break in the break room. We have a big computer in there and they're like, oh, you got to check out this OnlyFans page. It's really got some crazy girls do some crazy stuff on there. So we're watching it and all of a sudden I see my girlfriend on there. I'm like, you got to be kidding me. I said, that's her. So we go back and watch it. she's on her knee. She's completely naked. She's on her knees in front of a black man with his penis.

02:52:14 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

02:52:16 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 2:

Did you, you clearly had no idea she did this. Did you confront her when you got home?

02:52:22 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 1:

I took a picture of it on the screen and texted it to her.

02:52:26 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 3:

What'd she say? Wait, you texted it to her from work?

02:52:29 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:52:30 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 3:

You didn't even like...

02:52:31 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 1:

She was at work.

02:52:32 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 3:

And you didn't even... Wait, she was doing this at her work? This was like a co-worker of hers?

02:52:37 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 1:

No, she was, I texted to her, she wasn't at work. She was supposed to be at work. Supposed to be at work.

02:52:43 - 02:52:45 | Speaker 4:

What happened the next time you saw her in person?

02:52:47 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 1:

It wasn't very good. But I'll tell you what happened next. Oh, boy. So we decided later, a little bit later, those guys are like, let's look at some other sites. There's all kinds of cam sites where the girls go naked on camera.

02:52:59 - 02:52:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:52:59 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 1:

So we're on there, and all of a sudden I find her again. He's in our kitchen, completely naked, over a bar stool, and there's a naked man standing

02:53:09 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay, you don't have to say what he's doing, but there's a naked man inside of your house.

02:53:14 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 1:

Inside of my house, in the kitchen, and in touch with my girl.

02:53:18 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God. Wait, were you getting any gifts out of this whole deal? Like, was she buying you nice things, or did you ever know?

02:53:24 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 1:

No, she was not, but she did have some awful nice clothes. She did buy a new computer and a new camera, the hooks to the computer.

02:53:32 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 3:

Man, Kevin, look at all the money you're going to make.

02:53:36 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 4:

That coach, you got him going crazy. Oh, my God.

02:53:40 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine? That's a topic, by the way, for another day that we could spur off of.

02:53:45 - 02:53:51 | Speaker 2:

By the way, what kind of work do you do that you're just sitting around watching these videos all day with your buddies?

02:53:51 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't have time for that, but I'm a body man. A bunch of us, but guys in the shop, we have a break room, a real nice job.

02:53:59 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's why Kev's car was in the shop for three months.

02:54:02 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 1:

being a detroit lions fan has literally never been this fun this is mojo in the morning yeah

02:54:11 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

be listening tomorrow for a chance to win a thousand dollar ticket master gift card so that you can go to the game this weekend we have jingle ball tickets for the 95th caller right now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 it's unusual that we have them usually this late in the show only because we do the contest always with the dirty and we don't do it dirty at this time. But we got tickets right now and you can win them because we had our issues with the phones. So we got issues with them. All right. I don't know if we have much time for another topic or anything. I could probably do another trending news possibly. Let me do that. I'll do that. I'll be listening tomorrow too for the Throwback Throwdown. Who's going to win? Throwback.

02:55:00 - 02:57:07 | Speaker 2:

throw down Megan's going for another win in a row right look at that look at that board by the way look at that look at we got uh Kevin with nine wait no no 10 11 12 13 14 wins Mike's got 5 6 7 8 9 Shannon has 5 6 7 8 oh Shannon's like in third place Megan's not far behind Megan's got seven. So it's getting good. It's getting very good. And there's only, I believe, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. We got like seven or eight more left for the entire year before the end of the year. All right. Let me talk this. We got holidays just around the corner. We got Thanksgiving just around the corner. And this is interesting. What states are the most expensive states for you to get a Thanksgiving meal on your table this Thanksgiving time? And which ones are the least expensive? And are we in one of those? Potatoes, gravy, and cranberry sauce! The most expensive place to get a bird, this doesn't surprise me, because I think everything expensive there would be, you know, I think food in general would be. Hawaii is the home of the most expensive turkeys, the most expensive birds. If you're going to go to Hawaii or live in Hawaii, you're going to spend lots of money on your turkey dinner. According to Financial Buzz, grocers that are in these states pay the most expensive. For a turkey in Hawaii, it's $52.92. That's really expensive. Alaska's $44.85. California, everything is expensive there. I don't know why anybody would live in California. $39.85 and then Connecticut not that far behind Montana surprisingly enough I thought Montana you'd have turkeys running all over the place I've watched Yellowstone they look like everything would be okay

02:57:07 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm so nerdy I looked up where turkey farms are because I was so curious it's everywhere you expect except Montana Minnesota, North Carolina Arkansas Indiana Missouri Virginia Iowa and then California we've got a ton around here where you

02:57:24 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 3:

can go pick your turkey which I've always like that's always creeped me out that's not those wild turkeys I'm seeing in my neighborhood right no like you can pick the turkey that then you're

02:57:31 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 2:

gonna cook the 10 least expensive states this is pretty good we're on them Ohio and Michigan in the least expensive the least expensive state is Oklahoma $19.75 for your turkey Louisiana, 1980 And then Michigan and Ohio Ohio's 22.85, Michigan's 25.35 Can you imagine that? You're paying more than double in Hawaii For a turkey Which I guess it's expensive because Everything has to get there, right? And it's on an island

02:58:04 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 1:

Do you think culturally it's like a big item For those things you might do? I bet it's not

02:58:08 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 2:

What do you think they'd do? Like a luau pig or something?

02:58:12 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

02:58:12 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 2:

Hawaiian chicken?

02:58:14 - 02:58:14 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

02:58:15 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 2:

A pig would be fire, though, on the little light. You can rotate it. Speak it. Yes, grocery shoppers are noticing shrinkflation. Let's see here. Over three quarters surveyed customers say that they've noticed that the items that are in the stuff that they're buying has definitely gotten smaller in the last 30 days.

02:58:36 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 3:

Even Halloween candy. We talked about this with teeny.

02:58:40 - 02:58:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the teeny ones and then chips. How about that? It's now a bag of air. Yes. You're paying for a huge bag of air in these chips. Most consumers think that shrinkflation has become now common practice, and many think that this will never go away, even when inflation goes down.

02:58:55 - 02:59:04 | Speaker 3:

They said it's even affecting toilet paper and how, like, not even the plies, but like how padded the toilet paper is.

02:59:04 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Angel Soft has now minimized the product by 12 mega rolls from 429 sheets back in 2019 to now 320 this year for the Sheets. That's pretty wild, though, to think that it's that drastic of a change. People are celebrating the holidays less this year. 39% of Americans said that it's such a busy time and they've got so much going on in their lives, they're actually going to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas at different times or not celebrate them at all just to pass over. If you could celebrate, If you picked one Christmas or Thanksgiving You could only do one Which one would you do?

02:59:45 - 02:59:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh man That's so tough I'd say Christmas Megan I know you'd say Thanksgiving I would

02:59:52 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 2:

No you would say You're celebrating Christmas right? Yeah I'm celebrating Christmas Megan's like I'll be honest with you I love

03:00:00 - 03:00:09 | Speaker 6:

Christmas a lot because it's the kids but as the kids gotten older I've realized that even our Christmas turns into a Thanksgiving it's just a food fest

03:00:09 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 3:

see we've still got the magic a little bit

03:00:12 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 6:

keep that magic alive and Josiah is also young too so

03:00:15 - 03:00:20 | Speaker 5:

I asked him yesterday what did he want and it was like straight to the point

03:00:20 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 6:

he wants what

03:00:22 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 5:

he said I want something with Roblox he want the Robux You can tell at the end of the show. I can't even think right now. He wants Robux. He wants like this cat VR game where you can like beat up a cat or like something like that. And like two other things. But it was like very obtainable. It wasn't anything crazy. Yeah. I was like, oh, okay.

03:00:44 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 6:

Bad. This next story is an interesting one. If you're going away for the holidays, you might have tourist syndrome. It afflicts more than half of Americans. People get crazy when they go away. 56% of people experience tourist syndrome and do something out of character while they're traveling with nearly half of travelers saying that they have broken laws on vacation that they wouldn't have if they were home. Many of these people are doing things like doing selfies in areas that they shouldn't be, like going over ropes or blocked off areas to do them, being territorial with putting down towels to reserve loungers by the pools where they would just say, all right, I'll pass up a good seat. Like, you know, you ever see that? Have you ever go away to a place and it's like people go down to the pool area at like four in the morning and put their towels on it?

03:01:39 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 3:

That's me. That's me. I will set my alarm to get that seat.

03:01:43 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 6:

Picking plants without permission or going to nature preserves and reserves and going and grabbing stuff or trying to pet even animals that they might see that they would never do at their normal zoo.

03:01:54 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 3:

This makes sense to me, though, because don't you guys? I'm sure we've all said it. We're on vacation.

03:01:58 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 6:

03:03:54 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 4:
