00:02:26 - 00:02:56 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:02:56 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I knew I forgot something. I was meaning after I was listening to Shannon do a weather forecast yesterday to put that little thing in your car that cleans the snow off your windows. When you said that we might have some snow, I was like, crap. Now I just need to figure out where I put it.

00:03:33 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I know, right?

00:03:34 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 6:

You ever have that? Like you can't find the thing?

00:03:37 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Tomorrow's when you're going to need it, by the way.

00:03:38 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really? I thought you said possible flurries, though, today we might get some.

00:03:42 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 3:

Flurries this morning, yep. But then overnight tonight we might get an inch or two.

00:03:46 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 6:

Really?

00:03:47 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 3:

So tomorrow morning at this time, make sure you have it in your car.

00:03:49 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 6:

It's funny because I have so much stuff in the back of my car that I have no idea why it is I choose that one thing to take out of my car. Like, I think it might be because of psychological reasons. You know, like you psychologically say, all right, I can't drive around with this thing anymore because it's, you know. Well, you're hoping you're going to stop the snow.

00:04:09 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 9:

I don't want to use this anymore.

00:04:10 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 6:

No, I only, well, I usually take it out in July. So it does stay in the car a little bit longer than usual. But then in July, it will end up coming out of my car. Oh, man. I have so much stuff in the back of my car. If you looked in the back, it's all like things I want to return, stuff that Chelsea said, you know, hey, will you pick that up there and do something with that? So I just throw it in the back of my car because I figured she doesn't have any say-so on my car. She's got a say-so on every bit of me except for the back of my Tahoe. So that's mine and all mine. All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:04:47 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 3:

Your Tahoe wouldn't be yours if you lived in my neighborhood, by the way, right now.

00:04:50 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 6:

Why? What's going on?

00:04:52 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 3:

People's cars are getting stolen left and right.

00:04:55 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Really?

00:04:55 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 3:

It is a big issue right now in my neighborhood.

00:04:58 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

When you were out last week, Megan.

00:05:00 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 3:

was talking about how she feels left out because her neighborhood's getting all these cars broken into except for her car they're choosing not to did your car get broken into oh not me no no

00:05:12 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 1:

so this is like the second time that my neighborhood's been hit really bad and last time wes's car got broken into thankfully mine didn't this time um but yeah we got hit really really bad this weekend tons of people had their cars rifled through and then a lot of people had their cars actually stolen right from their driveway because like not a lot of people park in their garages I've I don't think I've ever parked in my garage I leave my car in my driveway but um I had a police officer show up at my door twice already this week asking for he's like I see you have an s cam you know sign in your yard we need the footage on this day from this time to this time and um by the way when a police officer shows up at your door you you first have a heart attack and then i had the kids home and i was like oh i should use this i should use this because they've been sassy lately um anyway i traumatize the children yes yes officer i know they've been

00:06:12 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 4:

really bad but please don't arrest them this time please don't put them in the back of your car um

00:06:18 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 1:

But I said to the police officer after I gave him the footage or whatever, I'm like, how are all these cars getting stolen? And in fact, one of the stolen cars, because there were a bunch of police officers at the house across the street from me, got dumped in the driveway across the street from my house.

00:06:34 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 3:

So they stole a car from somebody else's neighborhood.

00:06:36 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

They stole a car from somebody else's neighborhood. Bounced up nicer. Yeah. And then dumped it in the people's driveway across the street from me. So they had to have like a tow truck come and get it out. They were fingerprinting it. It was crazy.

00:06:46 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Can you see on the Nest cams, can you see somebody going in there? Like, did you get a chance to watch it with them?

00:06:51 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 1:

So, yes, I could see them coming down the street. But my Nest cam kind of cut off in terms of where you could see, like, right where their driveway is. But they still were able to see the vehicle, you know, come around and come through. But I said to the officer, how in the heck are all these cars getting stolen? And he said it is so common for people to leave their cars parked, unlocked in their driveway with the keys in the cup holder. And so it's easy. It's like you're inviting it to happen. You're asking for it.

00:07:26 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 3:

It's those key fobs because I think people leave the key fob and they forget that they have it maybe and walk away.

00:07:31 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, he said that a lot of people will do it because they're constantly losing their keys. So they're like, it's just easier to know that it's right there in the cup holder or in the center console. And when they get in their car, they can just turn it on.

00:07:42 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 3:

I've locked my keys in the car, but I use my app because I have the Chevy app. And I can lock the Chevy app. So I'll leave it just in case sometimes. Like sometimes I'll do that.

00:07:53 - 00:07:56 | Speaker 4:

But then they can just smash the window and take your car.

00:07:56 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, I guess they can. But here's the thing. I'd rather have them just take it with the key than hotwire it or do anything with the wires causing more damage. You know what I mean?

00:08:04 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 4:

Even while you're out of a car.

00:08:06 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

Right. But here's the story. It's a lease, and I'd love to get a new one. No, but here's the story, though. A lot of people, I mentioned this when Megan was talking about hers thing last week. A lot of people are leaving their cars wide open for thieves, basically saying, hey, here's the deal. You know what I mean? Like, I know I might get it back. You know, there's a possibility I might get it back.

00:08:29 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 1:

So don't damage it.

00:08:30 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like, I would rather, honestly, like, remember that caller we had last week that had that car that was all muffled, had the really loud noise? And she's like, yeah, that that costs you more than your whole car getting stolen.

00:08:43 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

So does a smashed window to me. This is really embarrassing. But when I was like 20, my car was so old and so like out of manufacturing, whatever, that my car doors were unlocked because they couldn't lock at the time. Shocking. I know somebody smashed the window to steal nothing out of my car and it totaled my car.

00:09:04 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:09:05 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that sucks. to shut the window from Japan than the car was worth.

00:09:12 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. We've had so many cars stolen from our neighborhood and the cops always said the same thing. They're like, they don't even make an effort. They come to the neighborhoods because they know those neighborhoods. People just leave them unlocked and leave stuff in them. That's why they come.

00:09:24 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 3:

Any robbers out there that would like to call us up and tell us what are things that we should do to protect our cars?

00:09:30 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Would you give us a little advice? No judgment.

00:09:33 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

Yes. We'll even voice this guide you.

00:09:35 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

Hopefully you've changed your life.

00:09:36 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Don't worry, our phone lines won't dial out, so we don't even have tracers on our phones because we can't do anything on these phone lines. I really am curious, though. Yeah, that would be kind of interesting.

00:09:47 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you go to McDonald's and get an Egg McMuffin and a coffee before you go on a spree in someone's neighborhood?

00:09:53 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're asking the robbers? Yes. Well, they've got to have a full belly.

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

I'm curious about how this is planned.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Seems like you couldn't get away with a coffee, though.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 1:

That's true, you'd spill.

00:10:01 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 5:

Well, you wouldn't want to do that because then you've got to take stuff out of the car with you, right? Yeah. You know how hard it is to get all the stuff out of your car to go into your house, like, at the end of the day?

00:10:09 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 1:

Like, do you take a selfie to document the occasion? I just, these are the things I want to know.

00:10:14 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 5:

Probably not a smart thing to do if somebody gets your phone, right?

00:10:17 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 1:

I mean, there's lots of ring cams right there, and you're on camera, so.

00:10:20 - 00:10:21 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Sophia?

00:10:23 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. First time caller, long time listener. Yay! Um, so, actually, like, I think this was Sunday, yeah, Sunday morning, my sister usually works out at, like, right before we go to church, and all of a sudden, she gets in her car, and she's like, hey, did someone, like, rummage through my car and just not put everything back? My mom went to our ring camera, funny enough, which lights up when, like, someone enters, like, any part of our driveway, and she saw two guys discreetly run up to my car. Thank God my car was locked. They couldn't get in, but my sister's was unlocked. And they rummaged through all of it Thank God nothing was stolen Like she didn't have anything valuable in there But we just saw them for two minutes There's like a video where you can actually see them Running up to both of our cars Run back into the car and drive away Wow

00:11:08 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's crazy My ring cams work like yours do It has to have motion in order to start recording So I wouldn't be able to record Unless it was within the motion But anytime that thing goes off Like where it shows that there's motion I look at it Like I always pay attention nowadays especially because of stories like this. What's up, Ken? Hey, how are you? Good. What's going on?

00:11:32 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 7:

Did you know that if you leave your keys in your car and it is stolen, and when they recover your car, the keys are in it, your insurance won't pay for any damages done to it?

00:11:42 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 5:

I kind of figured that.

00:11:44 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 6:

That's important to know.

00:11:46 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I kind of figured that, but I will tell you this, though. How will they find out that you left your keys in the car?

00:11:52 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 7:

Well, it happened to my stepdaughter. They didn't cover it. Really?

00:11:55 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 6:

Did she tell them? If the cops find their car, if they recover your car and the keys are in it, they know they stole it.

00:12:02 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 5:

Is that how they did it with your daughter?

00:12:04 - 00:12:04 | Speaker 6:

Yep.

00:12:05 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 7:

She pulled up to a 7-Eleven, ran in to get sucked. Okay. Get sucked in the car, and they found it totaled with her keys in it.

00:12:11 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's the thing. They say that that's real common, you know, today, too, because people don't want to turn their car off. They want to keep it warm, you know?

00:12:20 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 7:

And they'll also give you a ticket. Did you know that if you go outside and warm your car up in your driveway and your feet are in it, they will give you a ticket for it?

00:12:29 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 5:

You are a wealth of knowledge today for us, Ken. What else you got?

00:12:33 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 6:

We've talked about that before, and a lot of listeners didn't know that. But you're speaking to all the things that we're lazy about that we get mad when they call us out for being lazy.

00:12:44 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, my grandfather was a cop. He told me all the little tricks.

00:12:46 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 5:

You could use them for good or evil I kind of liked it What's going on Jenna hi

00:13:02 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 3:

Hi so A co-worker of mine actually Had her vehicle stolen by A tow truck driver

00:13:10 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh geez

00:13:11 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Her vehicle wouldn't start So you know she used a little state farm app and um the tow truck driver came and picked up her car and took what he wanted and

00:13:23 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 5:

left it wow wow were they able to figure out who it was based on like the tow company

00:13:30 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 3:

no because so they said state farm uses an app where these tow truck drivers can pay like 200 it's kind of like door dash you get these orders in and you can pick and choose so he had all the information and knew that the keys were left in it so oh wow yeah so um state farm she's fighting with them right now because the keys were left in it because the tow truck driver was supposed to come pick it up and take it to the dealership so now they uh are you know investigating all of

00:14:05 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 5:

that so interesting yeah thank you for the call no robbers by the way calling us shannon i know You're going to be disappointed in that? I'm going through the phone lines here, and I have not had it. Unless Dawn is. Dawn, are you a robber?

00:14:19 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 2:

No, I am not a robber. You're not? Actually, I was robbed.

00:14:21 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Okay. What did they steal your car?

00:14:25 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 2:

No, my catalytic converter out of my excursion while I was in the tanning salon.

00:14:29 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 5:

While you were in the tanning salon. How long were you in the tanning salon for?

00:14:33 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Like 10 minutes, but they had it on video. It was legit, like 45 seconds. Guy stood out of the passenger seat, stood right underneath it.

00:14:40 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 5:

How is it that Jiffy Lube takes 30 minutes to do an oil change, but the catalytic converter guys can steal it in 10 minutes?

00:14:49 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, when I was at the Lizzo concert, they cleared out a whole parking lot across the street. They said it took less than a half hour to take like 20 cars.

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 5:

catalytic converters. I realize it's very bad, but that's pretty impressive.

00:15:03 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 1:

They don't know what they're doing. Those are the guys that did

00:15:05 - 00:15:07 | Speaker 5:

shop class in high school.

00:15:07 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 1:

But they're also damaging your car. They're not trying to be careful. They're just trying to take your catalytic converter. They don't have to worry about putting it back together.

00:15:16 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 5:

Do they teach you how to do a catalytic converter? No. I got my

00:15:19 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 2:

boater's license and I made a birdhouse and a little wooden car. Useful.

00:15:27 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 5:

You know what? That sounded like it would be a fun class, though. More fun than chemistry. All right, Mojo in the Morning.

00:17:59 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 7:

Alright, thank you Shannon, we do have

00:18:06 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 5:

A robber I don't know if they like to be called robbers A thief I don't know if they like to be called thieves But we have a guy who is Maybe a reformed Car theft

00:18:19 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 2:

An alum to thievery

00:18:21 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah So we'll talk to him coming up here in a second after you're dirty.

00:18:26 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I'm excited. Pete Davidson's got a new girl. And I am here for this one. Pete and model Emily Radich, whatever the heck her last name is. She's how they're dating. Yes. And they've been talking for a couple of months now. And while their relationship is still in the very early stages, both really like each other. She thinks he's so intelligent. Mutual friends set them up in case you're wondering how they met. And both had relationships that ended over the summer. Pete, of course, split from Kim Kardashian after 10 months of dating. Emily split from her husband after nearly four years of marriage and a new baby. So kind of fresh. This is kind of fresh for them, but they're cute together. What does it say about me that immediately I was like, who cares if he's intelligent? He's funny. Did you see his new holiday commercial for The Manscaped? Oh, I love it. So, Santa stole his Manscaped and left a trail of white hair from the gift box to the bathroom. That's wrong.

00:19:25 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 3:

It's so good. Merry Christmas, Pete. It's so good. It's a Manscaped package with lotions and sprays and trimmers. And where's the lawnmower? There's a note. Dear Pete, may you have a Merry Christmas and a smooth New Year.

00:19:41 - 00:20:40 | Speaker 2:

He sees all the hair. Oh! They do great commercials. They do. In other Relationship Dirty, we talked about this briefly yesterday. Giselle Boonshin may or may not have a new man in her life. She was seen with Jiu-Jitsu. instructor Joaquin Valente on Saturday in Costa Rica grabbed some food with him and her two kids and Joaquin's co-trainer. However, friends say Giselle is not dating Joaquin. He is simply a family friend who's taught her kid for years. That's it. Nothing more to that story. Post Malone and Sway Lee Sunflower has become the highest charting single in history, according to the R-I-A-A, that song, which is part of the Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack back in 2018, was certified 17 times platinum this week, surpassing Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus's Old Town Road. I think that's pretty

00:20:40 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 1:

damn cool. And I wanted to say thank you to Sway Lee and I'm so honored to be able to have done a song with him. And we got some more on the way, some special stuff. And 17 times platinum is insane and I wanted to say thank you to everybody who's listening for everything.

00:20:56 - 00:21:00 | Speaker 2:

Post said it actually is one of his absolute favorite songs.

00:21:01 - 00:21:14 | Speaker 1:

It's so cool to see it impact so many people in so many different ways. Whenever you're happy, it makes you a little happier. Whenever you're sad, it kind of brings you out of that mood. I think it's a magical song.

00:21:14 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 2:

17 times platinum. That's crazy.

00:21:16 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 3:

It's wild. By the way, Billboard charts are doing something now that I've never seen done before. Songs from four years ago are charting on the Billboard charts again.

00:21:25 - 00:21:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, a lot of it is something that's very surprising. They've changed the formula to include streaming. And so a lot of these old songs that don't get credit, they don't get sold anymore because people already own them somewhere. Over years, you bought them on a CD or something or downloaded. But now they're saying streaming for repeat listens should count.

00:21:44 - 00:22:07 | Speaker 2:

Yep, yep. And lastly, the six remaining couples on Dancing with the Stars faced off in the semifinals yesterday. But a spoiler alert in case you're very invested. At the end of the evening, actor Daniel Durant and 90210 star Trevor Donovan were sent home. But the big story here, if you've ever watched Dancing with the Stars, Len Goodman announced that this season would be his last as a judge.

00:22:07 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 3:

Because he can't watch himself. It's time streaming.

00:22:09 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, he's been with the show since it started in 2005. It's been that long. And he said, you know, I just want to spend more time with my grandchildren and my family back in Britain. So, he's out. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on DirtyOnTheMorning.com.

00:22:25 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 5:

Get the stories you'll talk about all day on Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another phone scan in minutes.

00:22:34 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Does the car thief want to be voices, guys, or just your regular voice?

00:22:39 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 4:

No, no, you can keep it normal. I'm asking about the DJ 419, Toledo, Ohio, man.

00:22:44 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 5:

Now he's plugging his DJ business. Always a hustle.

00:22:47 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not either, man. When I was, I'm 32 now, man, when I was like 13, 14, my cousin used to show me with a vehicle. If a vehicle had a glow ring, so it was like Toyotas, Hondas, Chevy Impolis, you know, the glow ring that's around the ignition switch could be popped with a flying screwdriver. So we wouldn't take the car and damage it. We were actually, what we call it a mission. We were going across town to go hang out with girls. So we would take the car, go across town, take the car once we were done hanging out with the girls and park it somewhere down the street. You're like the Kia boys

00:23:21 - 00:23:31 | Speaker 5:

That's the same thing They discovered about the ignition So this is kind of maybe what Might be happening with Shannon's neighborhood They're joyriding, they're not out to keep the car

00:23:31 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 3:

How do you keep your fingerprints From being in the car?

00:23:35 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 4:

You can wear gloves If you're not even in the system, which I'm not I've never been arrested I mean, I wear gloves I mean, I watched enough Look, I hung with bad people when I was a teenager We're not going to sit here and make any good reason behind this.

00:23:51 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 3:

But, I mean, I work less. What can we do to protect ourselves? Like, if this is something that, you know, is prominent now, car thieves.

00:23:59 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if you've got a glow ring around your ignition, you're out of luck. So, I mean, find a new vehicle. For those that are leaving keys in the car, that's not a good idea. And, I mean, the idea of leaving the door unlocked so no one smashes the window out, Believe it or not, the little tiny window that's on your vehicle costs more than your actual windshield or your side windows. So you'll see a lot of people would just break that window. They are doing that because they're petty, knowing that that's going to actually cost you a lot. Oh, that stinks. Yeah, that's out of pettiness for sure.

00:24:32 - 00:24:38 | Speaker 3:

What do you drive? Because I'm sure that you drive a car that doesn't get stolen. I wouldn't drive one if I don't.

00:24:38 - 00:24:42 | Speaker 4:

I have a beat-up vehicle. You can take this vehicle if you like.

00:24:42 - 00:24:57 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I had a friend of mine who's always driven really nice cars and he's driving cars that are like 10 or 15 years old with high miles on them now. And I said, why is that? And he goes, honestly, he goes, why bother? I just needed to get from point A to point B. If somebody takes it, it doesn't make a difference.

00:24:58 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 4:

That is exactly how I feel. for sure. Thank you for sharing. Absolutely. Absolutely. Lifelong fan, but listen, you died all my life.

00:25:05 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 2:

Do me a favor. Do me a favor. We're in Farmington Hills, 27675 Halstead Road. We've got about four vehicles in our parking lot that need to be gone.

00:25:15 - 00:25:17 | Speaker 4:

They have our faces on them. Take them.

00:25:18 - 00:25:24 | Speaker 2:

I have no interest. I've been in retirement. No, no. Do it for us. You're a fan. They haven't changed our photos

00:25:24 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 3:

on the side in 10 years. The company won't

00:25:25 - 00:25:35 | Speaker 2:

get us new vehicles. We drive around in cars that literally are from the 1990s. This company doesn't want to give us new cars. Steal them, okay? I'll relate

00:25:35 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 4:

the message. I won't participate in that.

00:25:38 - 00:25:54 | Speaker 1:

All right, man. Bye. Thank you. Know some crap about some people? Win some freak crap and crap. The 5 at 6.55 comes up in minutes on Mojo in the Morning. Go ahead and laugh at Spike's world-famous phone scan. But are you next? On Mojo in the Morning.

00:25:55 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 2:

All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning show. You're home of the phone scams. Cameron just bought a new truck. Spike is going to call and see how he likes it and let him know about a big contest that they're doing. It's the Instant Win Airbag. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

00:26:13 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 3:

Yee, yee, yee, yee, yeah, I'll scare you.

00:26:17 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning phone scams.

00:26:22 - 00:26:39 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hi, calling for Cameron Pagin, please. Yeah, let's see. Hi, Cameron. It's Harry Wormwood calling from General Motors. Just want to congratulate you on the purchase of your new vehicle. We're just calling to see if you're satisfied with your new vehicle purchase, if there was any problems with it. Are you happy?

00:26:41 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm super happy. I mean, I've only been driving it around for, like, maybe a week.

00:26:45 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 3:

Awesome. Great. And you're happy? Did the dealership treat you well?

00:26:50 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think it was a fair deal, and they spent a lot of time. They answered all my questions.

00:26:54 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 3:

Perfect. And I just want to make sure you're aware of the $50,000 giveaway. A lot of the dealerships aren't getting the word out about that.

00:27:02 - 00:27:04 | Speaker 4:

No, I wasn't told about that.

00:27:04 - 00:27:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay. We're giving away $50,000 each month to someone who buys a new car. They didn't mention that to you? No. Your salesperson at the dealership was supposed to mention it, but it comes standard in all models this year. Your car has it, too. It's the new Instant Win Airbags, and you're actually entered to win just by buying a new car. so how do i win what we did is we printed a message on every airbag and every steering wheel that either says sorry you're not a winner try again or it awards fabulous prizes upon any violent high-speed impact with another car or stationary object in response to the promotion has been great are you serious yeah so when the airbag is deployed that's when you find out if you're a winner it's a big surprise auto accidents have never been so exciting this is going to go

00:27:50 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 4:

viral for sure dude that is the stupidest i'm so sorry i'm sure you didn't come up with this that's the stupidest idea i've ever heard why why do you say that what do you mean because you're promoting people to get into accidents well no obviously we don't want

00:28:04 - 00:28:18 | Speaker 3:

anyone to intentionally cause a fatal collision just to win the cash the prize will be there whether you find out next week or in two years i mean there's fifty thousand dollars there's a trip to the super bowl free gas for a year everything so i have to go and get into an

00:28:18 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 4:

accident of which that the airbag has to deploy right to find out if i'm if i won this stupid

00:28:25 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 3:

contest right well listen the rules state you can't put yourself at risk intentionally we don't want you to award a prize you know if you go buy a silverado just to drive off the bridge just to try to win i mean the super bowl tickets are no good if you have severe brain hemorrhaging and a punctured lung you know so yeah i mean just think in the past nobody really liked car wrecks and that's understandable but now we kind of put a positive spin on them who wouldn't like to win $150,000.

00:28:49 - 00:28:50 | Unknown:

Oh, dude.

00:28:51 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what good is the money if I die?

00:28:54 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, in the event that a motorist wins the prize but is killed, the prize is awarded to the next of kin. But in the six cities where we tested this, that never happened. I mean, it just shows airbags work. We're focusing on safety. That is so ass backwards. I know. Isn't it great? Like, this guy in Cincinnati hit an oil slick. He was going 60 miles per hour, and he slammed into a light post. Once his car started rolling down the embankment, his airbag deployed, And once he got all that glass and blood out of his eyes so he could read the airbag, he found out he won $25,000.

00:29:25 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's no way that this is real.

00:29:28 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, what's that? You cut out.

00:29:30 - 00:29:31 | Speaker 4:

There's no way that this is real.

00:29:32 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, the actual contest or the phone call? The phone call is real. I'm talking to you. You're talking to me. Contest, it's entirely made up. Yes, this is a Mojo in the Morning phone scam. This is Spike.

00:29:44 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 4:

I knew it. can you imagine rear-ending a tractor trailer to win an office depot gift card some people are so stupid they probably do

00:30:00 - 00:30:17 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. If I could say anything I wanted to, I'd say that was f***ing funny s*** right there. I don't care who you are. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams, Mojo in the Morning.

00:30:18 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning show. We are granting Christmas wishes this holiday season. We will begin just after Thanksgiving, which, by the way, is next week. I cannot believe how fast this has been going by. If you have not sent in a wish to us, you can go to our website, mojoswish.org. If you or someone you know needs help during the holiday season, we want to be there for them. Granting Christmas wishes through the holiday season would not be possible without the special people at Clean View Auto Wash. The east side knows Clean View Auto Wash in the Detroit area. And man, I hope they're all over the place. I actually told Frank Tolman, he's going to be in this morning to give us a check for breaking into Christmas wish. I said, can you please put one, like, right down the street from me in West Bloomfield or Waterford? Because they're so good.

00:31:02 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:31:03 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And Imagine Theaters. Thank you to those guys. And also thank you to Red Robin for helping us out. MojosWish.org. Send us your letters.

Thank you so much for playing. You think you can take down Kelsey here?

00:32:04 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 4:

I think so. Hope so.

00:32:06 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 2:

Say hello to her. Be nice.

00:32:08 - 00:32:09 | Speaker 4:

00:33:50 - 00:34:15 | Speaker 2:

Which Saturday night comedy show is popularizing anti-Semitism? I'll tell you what. Don't tell Kelsey. I don't think she's going to need it. I think she's going to beat you anyway. I would have got that one. Okay. Yeah, she's going to beat you anyway. Don't worry about that. Question number four. Actress Christina Applegate made her first public appearance since telling the world that she is battling MS. True or false, Applegate was honored yesterday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

00:34:18 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 2:

00:34:52 - 00:34:55 | Speaker 4:

You stupid, ignorant, son of a bitch, dumb bastard!

00:34:56 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

00:35:00 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Question number one, the house from the classic movie A Christmas Story has gone up for sale. What Ohio town is that house in? Cincinnati? No. No. Cleveland. Cleveland. Both of you guys missed that one. Question number two, actor Taylor Lautner and his longtime girlfriend Taylor Dome tied the knot at a winery in California one year after getting engaged. Who did Lautner play in the movie Twilight? Oh, my goodness. Three seconds. Oh, my God. Oh, I can't even think of his name. Jacob. He played Jacob. We're still scoreless. The werewolf. I'm proud of you for knowing that. Micah. I'm so sad I don't know that. All right. The next three here. I don't know how I'm going to do this. I hope I didn't give this guy the answer that's going to cost. We had controversy two years in a row Alright, I'll say it the same way Question number three Dave Chappelle's 15 minute monologue Racked up 3.2 million views In less than 24 hours on YouTube Which Saturday Night Live Comedy is being accused Of popularizing Anti-Semitism Can you repeat that question? She needs one more to get the win with a tie. Come on, you can get these next two right.

00:36:36 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 2:

I mean, one of them's a true or false. He got it wrong, but maybe she can get it right.

00:36:40 - 00:36:52 | Speaker 1:

Question number four, actress Christina Applegate made her first public appearance since telling the world that she's battling MS. True or false, Applegate was honored yesterday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

00:36:54 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 2:

False. Oh, my God. You guys! True. Oh, man, there's no way she'll get this one wrong, though. True. Kelsey, you got to get this one right. I don't know, Mike. I don't know. It comes down to this one. And all the frustrated people listening to Cars Better text in they want to play. He could take them on later.

00:37:13 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 1:

00:38:08 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I'm going to say this I think that this one is more exciting Than when somebody gets 5 out of 5 I don't know why that is I think that we Sometimes we don't understand That people want to see people go on Jeopardy and get zero or negative dollars. And Mike? Cleveland, Ohio is a tough one. The Cleveland, Ohio one? The house from A Christmas Story? It's like a classic movie, and it's been in the news the last couple days. It lasts actually a few weeks because they're doing the reboot. All right, no, I'm not going to justify it. You're back tomorrow, Mike. Congratulations. 00:40:46 - 00:40:47 | Unknown:

Shake it off.

00:40:48 - 00:41:33 | Speaker 2:

Shake it off. Shake it off. Mojo in the morning show. So my buddy, Era, DJ New Era, who is on our iHeartRadio station down in Alabama with my good friend, Alabama, I kind of, like, coach these guys, and I get a chance to talk to them, and they're a really good morning show. Well, he's mad at me right now, and the reason why he's mad to me is, like, stupid. So over the weekend, he got this new app that goes through your Instagram and will tell you who you are following on Instagram that is not following you back. And Ara got all upset. I know.

00:41:33 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 3:

Why would you do that? You're just going to make yourself mad.

00:41:35 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 2:

Eric got all upset because there were a whole bunch of people that weren't following him back on Instagram that he was following. And so he got really mad about this. And I said to him, I go, listen, you're in radio. And the whole idea of having mutual followers is near impossible because you have so many followers. You know what I mean? Right. You can't sit there and just think that everybody that you follow is going to follow you back. And he goes, yes, because I am the star.

00:42:06 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 3:

He did not say that. He did not. I know him.

00:42:09 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 2:

He did not say that.

00:42:10 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 3:

But it is different with you. I could see where he would want you to follow him.

00:42:14 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, he wasn't just me. He sent out a letter to, or a note to everybody, a DM to everybody that said.

00:42:21 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 1:

I follow him, I think.

00:42:21 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Did you get one? No.

00:42:23 - 00:42:26 | Speaker 1:

Wasn't he the same guy who followed everybody on the show but me?

00:42:26 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 2:

Uh-oh. Perhaps.

00:42:28 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 3:

Perhaps he was.

00:42:29 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 2:

So is there a follow, is there like rules to following? Like, are there, you know, like, you have to follow me if I follow you.

00:42:40 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 3:

You're about to get 20 likes on Insta, f**k.

00:42:43 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 2:

Like, do you have that? I think there's niceties. Yeah. We just kind of do it, but I don't think there's rules.

00:42:49 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 3:

The dude's following between 4,000 and 5,000 people. He's really worried about which of those people are following him back.

00:42:55 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't know why he gets all caught up in that whole thing.

00:42:58 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 3:

I bet it's just you because he looks up to you. Yeah, maybe.

00:43:01 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Hold on a second. Hold on, let me see if I can just, they're doing their show. This is probably not a good idea for me to call them at this time, but maybe they're in a commercial break or something right now. Hello? Are you on the air?

00:43:17 - 00:43:19 | Speaker 4:

No, not in a few seconds.

00:43:19 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 1:

We've got three or four minutes. Hi, Alabama.

00:43:22 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 2:

I just want you to know that all of us are unfollowing you today because of that app that you got over the weekend. Why?

00:43:28 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Because that is the most

00:43:32 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 2:

Petty thing I've ever in my life Heard of that you would unfollow people That don't follow you

00:43:37 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 4:

Everybody still follow Listen Worse of them all

00:43:44 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 2:

You know who's unfollowing you right now Shannon's unfollowing you

00:43:48 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 4:

I would never Let me see songs I'm following you Cupcake Shannon He only calls me Cupcake Shannon

00:43:56 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 3:

I would never unfollow you. You give me my daily dose of Jesus.

00:44:02 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 4:

This is so unfagged, you guys. This is not right. Mo, don't still follow you.

00:44:06 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 2:

I know, but here's the thing. I just think that that's so petty that you would actually, first off, download that app. Who told you about that app?

00:44:15 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, my brother told me about it. He just says it clears up, like, a lot of fake accounts.

00:44:20 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:44:20 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 4:

That's what he said. Oh, okay.

00:44:21 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 2:

But it clears up fake accounts, but now you're upset at the real accounts that aren't following back.

00:44:26 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm not upset. The people that I unfollow got upset because I didn't know I unfollowed them.

00:44:31 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Alabama. This guy's petty. He's so petty.

00:44:35 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 1:

Eric came into work, and he's like, this girl used to like my photos all the time, and she quit liking my photos, and I'm mad.

00:44:44 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she's busy. Maybe she's got other stuff going on in her life. She doesn't need to be seeing all your photos.

00:44:50 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my goodness. You guys are going to start the morning out like this, and I'm eating peanut butter crackers. That's a good thing.

00:44:55 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 2:

that's a good thing all right all right you guys have a good show i love your show Talk to you guys later. Bye, Alabama. Follow Alabama. Don't follow Aira. It's funny, though, because I have friends that are like that, too. I have more friends that are like that that get really petty when it comes to social media. And if you don't, you haven't liked something that I've posted for like, you know, a month. I don't. And it's like maybe they haven't seen it, you know. Right. I have an app that tells you if someone blocks you. Oh, really? So do you use it specifically for someone, or did somebody just tell you about that app?

00:45:38 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 7:

I learned about it in college.

00:45:40 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay. But then what do you do with that information? Because obviously they already blocked you. They don't want to talk to you anymore.

00:45:45 - 00:45:47 | Speaker 5:

Like you did something. I don't know.

00:45:48 - 00:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Wonder? Wonder. All it does is make you feel worse knowing that.

00:45:54 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Actually, my ex and his new girlfriend blocked me on the same day, and I kind of feel good about it.

00:45:59 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 2:

Really? Your ex and his new girlfriend? Why was his new girlfriend following you? She wasn't. That's the funny part. Okay. That's weird when people do that. Like when they break up, and then they get a new girlfriend or boyfriend, and that new girlfriend or boyfriend starts following their current relationship's ex. Like why are they following? What are they doing? Are they trying to—

00:46:21 - 00:46:34 | Speaker 5:

This just happened to a girlfriend of mine. Yes. the guy that she's dating, his ex like she caught her creeping on all of her stories and stuff and she just followed her. My ex

00:46:34 - 00:46:45 | Speaker 7:

unfollowed me but then put his profile to public so I could see that he unfollowed me but I could still see his stuff it was so petty, I loved it

00:46:45 - 00:46:48 | Speaker 5:

I loved the energy to do this. I was honestly like good

00:46:48 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 7:

for you because he wanted me to see him and his new girlfriend but like Didn't want to follow me

00:46:54 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 2:

I just feel like It's funny Social media already gives us so much anxiety Why are you giving yourself even more anxiety Doing that The other one too is This has happened a couple of times Where people will like and then unlike something And I know this is weird that I would see that But it's just that I went And I saw that somebody liked it It was like you know how it shows up just recently Like who it was or made a comment And then they delete the comment And I'm like why did they delete the comment It was actually a very nice comment, but I don't know if they just didn't want that.

00:47:25 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 5:

I've deleted a comment before if I realized I spelled something wrong.

00:47:27 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Well, but then you rewrite it, right? You rewrite. But I almost feel like people feel like you're going to be accused of creeping if that's the case. And the other thing now that's funny is, and I've realized this with likes, you always know who your super friends are when they're the first ones that like anything that you post.

00:47:50 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:47:50 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 2:

And I think it's cute But I don't like to be that person Because there's so many times where I'll see Posted you know one minute ago And I'm like I'm going to wait until somebody else likes it Because I just don't want them to think that

00:48:01 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 6:

You know who's always like one of my first Is Shannon You're always like one of my first

00:48:06 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah they push you to the front anyway So like if we see your stuff all the time

00:48:11 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's good at that and my sister Pat Ann Pat is good at that What's going on Ashley

00:48:15 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 4:

Hi guys

00:48:17 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 2:

Hey what's happening

00:48:18 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 4:

I was calling because I had a best friend for 28 years who, during COVID, her boyfriend's mom was in the hospital that she poked about on Facebook. But it didn't tell us, my other best friend and I, and she ended up, like, not being friends with us anymore. She said it made her so upset that we didn't reach out to her that she couldn't be friends with us anymore for 28 years.

00:48:41 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. I know.

00:48:43 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 4:

It was just something she posted on Facebook.

00:48:46 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 2:

if we'd see it and she was so mad at us so i that the thing that you're if you're reading that much into it that you're not going to be friends with somebody that you considered to be a close friend and don't do it but um people people all want to know that block uh uh app so everybody wants to know that block app and everybody wants to know the app that era used to find out who is uh who

00:49:09 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 3:

is not following back i want to know that one although i know one person in particular that's unfollowed and I don't know why but I don't have the energy to ask why but you can notice also when people hide or block your stories too if you watch it because you can see people who watch your stuff all the time and then all of a sudden they just disappear for a little bit and then they come back really

00:49:28 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 5:

so you read into it that could also be the algorithm Mike don't let that bother you because like all of a sudden new people that I like don't normally look at are popping up in my thing for the front of my stories does that make sense

00:49:40 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 3:

yeah it doesn't it doesn't I don't think it bothers me I'm interested in why But I don't, like at the end of the day, I don't care, but I'm interested why, like, what's the purpose, like, what's the reason?

00:49:49 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 6:

My favorite is when you get a notification that someone sent you a message and then it says this person unsent the message. So I don't know who sent me a message and then changed their mind.

00:49:58 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You want to know what that was? That's what that's all about. Home of the phone scams, the war of the roses, and the dirty on the 30. Mojo in the morning. Megan, did you finally get a credit card? We were talking about Megan and credit cards, and you didn't have a credit card, right?

00:50:21 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't have a credit card. You don't? This is just a new card. A debit card?

00:50:25 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 2:

Okay, new debit card. Yeah. Okay.

00:50:26 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 4:

Can just one second Can we all just take a minute to Show me how proud you are of me That my card expired and I didn't lose it

00:50:37 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 1:

Wow you made it all the way through a cycle That's huge That's the first time that's ever happened

00:50:44 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 4:

Give us some air horn She's an adult So I got this new card right They sent it to me And a little part of me was excited because I've been trying to cancel a few subscriptions and I couldn't figure it out because websites nowadays try to keep you from doing that. So I was like, hell yeah, new card means all of those subscriptions are going to end. So I was pretty excited until I started getting quite a few emails saying, hey, Megan, we'd love for you to update your payment information because our services have stopped. And some of those were, like I said, ones that I wanted canceled. A lot of them I forgot I had signed up for a very long time ago, including an online therapist that I had paid for monthly that I never once visited or used.

00:51:33 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. So while we were just proud of you for about three seconds, now I'm not proud of you again because you actually thought if I just stop paying and get a new card, they're going to stop the subscription. It doesn't work like that.

00:51:45 - 00:51:49 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? What do you mean? No, it kind of does, right? You don't pay for it anymore?

00:51:49 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 1:

It depends. If they don't know you left and the service is still open, then they're just waiting for a new payment card to be put in. They're not going to cancel. They're going to say, hey.

00:51:58 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, they can't take my money. I don't have the card.

00:52:01 - 00:52:33 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you, I like to do that from time to time and clean out subscriptions that I didn't even realize I still had. Sometimes I'll subscribe to something. For instance, for the show, I'll subscribe to the local newspaper just to get a story that we need. And I'll subscribe to it really fast thinking, oh, I'll unsubscribe to it at the end of the month. Well, at the end of the month, I never unsubscribe to it. And so sometimes getting a new card is actually the best way to not have to keep track of everything that you're subscribed to.

00:52:33 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 1:

But if they're still sending you the subscription, they still expect payment for it. No, I can't log in is what they're saying.

00:52:39 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 4:

So until I update the payment info, I can't log in and use it. But I think we missed the big point here that I was paying for a therapist that I never once went to. Yes. Was it like a BetterHelp or something, Megan? Yeah. It wasn't that company, but it was very similar. And I was just like, they emailed me yesterday. I was like, how much was I paying for this? And it was more expensive than I realized.

00:53:02 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 2:

Megan, you shouldn't have canceled that. You should get that back again because you have been doing very good lately. Maybe just having to pay that actually has been therapy enough for you.

00:53:12 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 4:

Well, ask me what else I've been paying for. What else have you been paying for? I have been paying for piano lessons that I have not taken on over your time. You wanted to play piano? I do kind of play piano, but not very well. And I found this school during the pandemic, and I have a really nice keyboard. And I was like, you know what, I'll set it back up, and it's set up in my room right now. Well, no. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen it. It's next to my mirror propped up against the wall, just sitting there collecting dust. But for a while, it was set up, and I would play it all the time. And then, I don't know, things got busy. But I just forgot to cancel my piano lessons. So I've just been paying for them and not taking them.

00:53:49 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Online piano lessons, online therapy. What else is in that little batch there? You got anything good that anything we can enjoy?

00:53:58 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to be really honest because I'm not sponsored and they never sponsored me and I wanted them to. I was paying for HelloFresh for a very long time. Could not figure out how to cancel it. They make that so tough. Many times, and this was the first week a HelloFresh box didn't come, and I was like, I win.

00:54:16 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 2:

I had that same thing happen to me with some supplements that I bought. Like, there were some supplements that I bought that were like, these things are great, and they'll make your skin look nice or whatever. And I saw the ad, like, online, and I'm like, oh, I'm going to try this and see what it looks like. You guys, I have bottles upon bottles of this stuff. Chelsea's like, you've got to cancel the thing. I'm like, Chelsea, I'm trying to. They won't stop sending it to me

00:54:40 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

I know, well then it becomes a game for me To get it cancelled Is there somewhere on your Where do you check to see what your recurring Charges or subscriptions are I have so many for Kids games You know what I'm saying Like ABC Mouse or something that we no longer use That I'm paying for There's not a section

00:55:00 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 1:

I think if you go into, I don't know what bank you use, but the bank that I use, you can go in there. So I'm Chase. And so on their app, you can see like every month what the reoccurring is. Because one of the things that got me was Apple Music. I was paying for like three different subscriptions instead of just getting a family subscription. Like why was I doing that? Yeah, like I want to figure that out. Megan, this is the best text of them all. 313 says, technically, Megan, you did lose your card because your brother found it.

00:55:27 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, that's right. I forgot about that. A couple of weeks ago when my wallet was loose in downtown.

00:55:34 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Liz? You wanted to say something to Megan?

00:55:36 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Liz. Sorry, not Liz. Sorry, that's not my real name. Sorry, I got confused. Oh, okay. Megan. Megan, it sounds like you need to join Erica's Savings Challenge. And I'm sure you've seen her on Instagram. She's the one that says, Erica is an attorney, and she reads the fine print, so I don't have to. And that's why I follow her. And she tells you all these tips and hacks for saving, like she tells you how to get free AirPods and use the warranty. Something I learned that she's just opening her savings challenge again today, but something I learned today, and no, I don't sell anything for her. Something I learned was that if you have T-Mobile, T-Mobile also includes Netflix for you. And a lot of people in the Savings Challenge I joined didn't know this, so they canceled their Netflix because it was already included in their T-Mobile subscription.

00:56:29 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Oh, no.

00:56:30 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's really cool.

00:56:31 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 5:

Now, let me ask you this person we're supposed to. What's her name we're following in Savings Challenge?

00:56:35 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Is she Erica Budgets on YouTube? No, Erica Kohlberg.

00:56:39 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 4:

So, E-R-I-K-A-K-U-L-L-B-E-R-G. She used to be an attorney.

00:56:47 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 5:

Do we have to subscribe to her information?

00:56:52 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 4:

I mean, you don't have to, but you're going to get a lot of tips from her. Oh, she's legit. Hey, Liz, is your real name Erica?

00:57:02 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Benita?

00:57:05 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 3:

I may be old-fashioned, but does nobody look at statements or their online banking to see what's coming out all the time?

00:57:14 - 00:57:25 | Speaker 5:

There's a reason that companies give you all those discounts and deals for going paperless because they realize if you get the statement, you're going to see that you've paid for stuff you shouldn't be paying for.

00:57:25 - 00:57:41 | Speaker 3:

Right, but you can still go online and look at your Capital One credit card and see what you're subscribing to. And you can still go on your bank app and see what – that's what I do. I do it all the time just because I'm scared of fraud and stuff.

00:57:42 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 4:

You're not wrong. I just don't have any justification for my behavior.

00:57:46 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 1:

Megan, did you ever do this? Now that you're all clean and you have all those guys in the past, you're like looking for things to subscribe to?

00:57:53 - 00:57:59 | Speaker 4:

No, I feel rich. That's what it is. I feel like a wealthy woman now that my $3 a month is saved.

00:58:01 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 1:

You need to find somebody to actually help you put that money. And you can go to Erica, whatever that name was.

00:58:07 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 5:

Well, Jay Leno is in a burn center this morning after suffering a really serious injury. to his face. Following some breaking news out of California, former Tonight Show host Jay Leno is recovering after suffering a severe burn to his face. Leno was working in his garage where he stores a big car collection. When one of the cars burst into flames, the flames burned the left side of Jay's face but did not penetrate his eyes or his ear. He was taken to the burn ward at Grossman Burn Center and he's still in the hospital. He said in a statement though that he will need a week or two to recover, wishing him all the

01:00:27 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 5:

best. Isn't that crazy? Somehow got doused in gasoline. I heard it was

01:00:31 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 4:

actually combustible gas, like the steam that comes off of it. That was what the burn was. Because he owns almost

01:00:39 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 3:

200 cars, classic cars, race cars. So, I mean, he's taking care of all these and, I guess, extensively restoring some of these rare cars.

01:00:49 - 01:01:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. Yesterday, actress Christina Applegate was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was barefoot walking with the Kane. It was her first public appearance since revealing how multiple sclerosis has just devastated her mobility, but she was showing off her MS-themed manicure. It said F-U-M-S

01:01:10 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 1:

on her fingers. Oh, by the way, I have a disease. Anyway, did you not notice? Anywho, I've had a really interesting life. The life started as being a little girl waiting in line to see the first Star Wars on this very street at that very theater and looking at these things going who are these people what did they do did they do something right did they do something wrong whatever it is i want one i effing want one and i was five years old so um this day means more

01:01:39 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 5:

to me than you could possibly imagine she was joined by her dead to me co-star linda cartellini as well as katie siegel and david faustino from her married with children days they were hanging

01:01:48 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 4:

out and speaking as well she's kind of cool she by the way is a is heroic for coming out and doing because I knew that she wasn't doing well. She's walking out with a cane, and then they said... Do you know that her... What's the show that she's just recently on? Dead to Me. So Dead to Me. Did you hear the story about how her co-stars had to hold her up physically in order to do some of the lines to finish off the taping of that? Because physically, she just cannot stand up. Yeah. Sad.

01:02:14 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 5:

The season five premiere of Yellowstone, which I still haven't watched. Oh, it's good. Oh, my God, don't say anything to me. It's good. Well, it was big. It attracted 12.1 million live plus same-day viewers. The biggest numbers yet for that show. And those ratings make Yellowstone the top scripted series premiere of 2022 so far.

01:02:37 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 4:

I was, like, really worried. I'm so excited. But it was, like Mike said, it was so good. The two episodes were so awesome. I downloaded a seven-day subscription just for it, and it was worth it. 100%.

01:02:48 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 5:

real quick margot robbie's pirates of the caribbean film is reportedly dead it's not happening she told vanity fair in its december january issue that the project is no longer in the works confirmed she said of the female-led spinoff we thought it would have been really cool but i guess they don't want to do it and amazon founder jeff beso said he will give away the majority of his wealth during his lifetime he made that announcement in a joint cnn interview yesterday with his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez didn't specify how or to whom he will give away the money. The couple simply said they were building the capacity to do it. And I don't know if you saw this story. Also yesterday, his ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott, announced almost $2 billion in donations to 343 different organizations, emphasizing her interest in supporting people

01:03:36 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 3:

from underserved communities. He keeps saying he's going to do it. She's been doing it ever Oh, for sure.

01:03:42 - 01:03:49 | Speaker 4:

By the way, they announced that the same day that they also announced that Amazon's firing 11,000 people. Oh, really? Oh, shocking.

01:03:49 - 01:03:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm so gassed.

01:03:51 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 4:

Maybe give the money to those guys.

01:03:54 - 01:03:57 | Speaker 5:

01:04:46 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 4:

01:04:58 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 5:

Appreciate you so much.

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo on the morning show. So Spike is dealing with a spy.

01:05:05 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that spy is five years old. I was keeping my girlfriend's son busy while she was on a conference call, and I was showing him something on my phone. And then that sneaky little five-year-old went in the other room when she got off the phone and reported my password to her. Mama, in case you need it, Spike's password is 9024. And I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what is this, you little snitch? Wait, how did he observe you doing it? Yeah, we were having fun. He discovered Siri and all the fun things you can ask Siri. And so he was doing, you know, hey, Siri, do giraffes poop? And hey, Siri, oh, hang on now, my phone's going off because I said that. And so I thought, you know, this is cute. I got him. I'm keeping him busy. So mama can be on that international call and take care of business. Well, he wasn't just, you know, to use Siri, it didn't recognize his voice on my phone. So I had to get him into the phone. And then he immediately like retained that information. When you realize how five-year-olds can memorize, see something so quickly or hear one thing on TV or you talking in the other room four rooms away and they remember it it's crazy i know parents can deal with this all the time where you know your child's a snitch they hear something and you don't think they heard it but they did yeah you'll do you'll call us up and tell us

01:06:34 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 3:

what did your kids hear that they were able to uh possibly use against you in this case did you

01:06:41 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 2:

change your password afterwards no but i just reminded him that santa claus is watching because That's what you do nowadays. We're well into the season. We should be behaving.

01:06:50 - 01:06:52 | Speaker 4:

You didn't change your password from 9024?

01:06:52 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, now you guys know it. She already knew my password, so I wasn't worried about that. I was more like shocked and alarmed. You know what you should do? I have to keep my guard up around these little guys.

01:07:02 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 3:

Let's see how intelligent this young man is, and let's give him all of your passwords, and then you'll have a password keeper for everything. Because I can't remember my password. I know. Exactly. Thank God they have a spot on your phone where you can do all that stuff.

01:07:18 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I want him to remember all my passwords. And also, can he reply to all my inner office reply alls that people keep answering?

01:07:24 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Right, exactly. Look at all these phone lines here. Mojo in the morning, hello.

01:07:29 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm calling you for Taylor Swift. Yeah, I was going to say that might be for Taylor Swift.

01:07:32 - 01:07:33 | Speaker 3:

Taylor Swift.

01:07:34 - 01:07:37 | Speaker 2:

I looked up and saw 200 calls. I said they can't be that excited for this time.

01:07:37 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 3:

Somebody answer those phones in that other room. Get those things going. So wait a second. So Taylor Swift, $7.50. You've got to wait until you ask. Yeah, calling now, all it does is irritate Radio DJ.

01:07:49 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, in fact, we're usually not even on time. So you've got to listen until we tell you to.

01:07:53 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so right before we do the scam, it's a essential survey, okay?

01:07:57 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay, sorry.

01:07:58 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm one of those people that believes in luck and karma, and I don't ever want the luck of us picking up the phone to be, no, it's not time yet.

01:08:07 - 01:08:08 | Speaker 2:

Because then you won't get it when you need it.

01:08:09 - 01:08:10 | Speaker 3:

Tracy, what's going on?

01:08:12 - 01:08:26 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. And I had my daughter was about four years old at the time, and I went to her and said, hey, I'll give you a dollar if you tell me what daddy got me for Christmas. And I was just kidding, and she was like, oh, yeah, he got you a blah, blah, blah.

01:08:28 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 4:

So you know what? My son just did this yesterday. Really? Yeah, we went out and got a gift for Cecily, and we were like, oh, there's no way he's going to remember this. And then the second she got home, hey, guess what? Mommy and daddy got here.

01:08:45 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Doreen? Hi.

01:08:47 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys.

01:08:49 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:08:51 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 5:

So my nine-year-old daughter went through her dad's phone, and then later on she came up to me and said, Hey, mom, daddy is texting, and she's naming all of these girls and what was said.

01:09:06 - 01:09:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. And anything naughty on there? Did he get in trouble? No, they were all, like, co-workers.

01:09:13 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 5:

It was just work-related. But just the fact that she went through his phone and trying to, like, find if he's messaging any girls, which is like, what are you doing? So she got in trouble from Daddy trying to get us.

01:09:28 - 01:09:30 | Speaker 3:

But she got a reward from Mommy.

01:09:30 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 5:

I know I asked her what the password is Because he just put a password on Because he goes through his phone And there's some things that he doesn't want her to see But I already knew the password But she came up to me and said Mom, daddy has a password on his phone That means something is hiding

01:09:45 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 3:

Wait, how old is your daughter again?

01:09:49 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 5:

Well, she just turned 10

01:09:50 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Okay, she was 9 years old Does she watch that show Cheaters late at night That runs on television? Is that even still on? I love that show

01:09:57 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she listens to the world

01:10:00 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 2:

of the roses. That's how she figured this thing out. That kid's smart. What's up, Erica? Good morning. Hey, good morning. We're talking about kids and how they are wealth of knowledge.

01:10:11 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 5:

What's going on? So when we were little, my brother and I, my little brother learned my mom's debit card PIN and he would yell it and tell everybody her PIN numbers.

01:10:23 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 2:

you know what's amazing i bet you there's some kids that know their parents credit card numbers by heart and enter them for video games and things like that yeah i'm always amazed that

01:10:35 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 3:

my wife knows her credit card by heart and it's so dangerous i actually kind of wish i didn't because crazy it's just so easy to pop it right in um all right wow i can't believe how many people

01:10:46 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 1:

are messaging me right now saying they're texting saying that when i said hey siri their siri went off so let me just say hey siri listen to mojo in the morning on that's awesome on a podcast right

01:10:59 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 2:

now frank come on over here sit right there next to shannon and spike guys i want to introduce you to somebody this is a newfound uh friend who uh has seriously the greatest heart in the world and his story is amazing of why breaking entering christmas wish is going to be getting a sizable donation from him his company and his family um in studio with us this morning is frank toma frank toma is uh the man who owns the clean view auto wash the east sides auto wash which by the way did you hear me say earlier this morning you need i need you and in uh in my neck neck of the woods

01:11:48 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 4:

Sounds like a plan.

01:11:50 - 01:11:57 | Speaker 2:

So, Clean View Auto Wash, for those that are in the Detroit area, is the east side of town. Where was the first one that you guys opened?

01:11:57 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 4:

Our first location in 2010 opened in Chesterfield on 23 miles south of Gratiot.

01:12:03 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 2:

It was a family business, right?

01:12:04 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 4:

Correct. It still is.

01:12:06 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And this is a great story. And, Megan, you'll appreciate this one. Frank is a UT grad. So, Frank, you would listen to the show while you commuted from the east side to Toledo for school while you were going to school?

01:12:21 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 4:

Correct. Go like it. I went to UT, started in 2012, and then I ended up opening my first business on the UT campus, the Verizon store on UT campus. That was my store for eight years. Really?

01:12:37 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

01:12:37 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 4:

So I commuted back and forth, lived in Toledo for a year.

01:12:40 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 2:

As a college student, you are owning businesses. Thank God for being Chaldean. Why can I not be that? I can't even sell Girl Scout or Boy Scout cookies. You know what I mean?

01:12:51 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 4:

Like, that's amazing. I'm very fortunate and blessed to be able to do that.

01:12:57 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 1:

I love clean. So the one at 19 in Hayes, is it? Yeah. That was right next to when I started dating my girlfriend. It was right next to her place. And I would get, it was like right there. And I loved it because a lot of the car washes you go through, They just move around the dirt and wet the dirt. I was like, oh, my car is actually clean the first time. I love it.

01:13:14 - 01:13:32 | Speaker 2:

So this story is amazing. Frank's story is amazing. So Frank would listen to the show crying on his way to Toledo, hearing us grant Christmas wishes for all those years that he was going to Toledo for not only school but also his business. And you said to yourself as you were driving that there was going to be one day that you were going to make a donation to us.

01:13:32 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

And I always said that it was so touching that the program, I always told my wife, I said, one day we're going to do this and we're not just going to do it on a small level. We're going to try to do it the biggest we can. Yeah. And I hope we're making a mark here to find some families that we can actually help. and you know more importantly you know i want to bring my family and my kids and my nieces and nephews to show them how fortunate they are yeah because what they have and also how important it

01:14:04 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 3:

01:17:21 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 3:

Doesn't make sense. All right, we'll skip that one. When you stop believing, are you worried that Journey will be mad at you? No. And of all the utensils invented to eat rice with, how did two sticks win?

01:17:33 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I ate my rice with chopsticks. Where are these questions coming from? From the U.S. senseless bureau. I do have to go. I do have to go. Oh, okay.

01:17:41 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 3:

01:19:46 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

on the way the dirty is coming up breakup or makeup this morning and a very interesting situation they've been dating now for some time and wait till you hear

01:20:00 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 1:

which one of them wants to move the relationship to the next level and the other one doesn't. I was actually surprised when I was reading their submission that they did to us. I thought, oh, this is going to be good. This will be an interesting one. So you get to play therapist coming up here in just a little bit. Plus, good topics on the way coming up this hour, including KP, our producer, with her home habits that she's brought to work, Mike with, he lost his dad card, and what the heck are you doing while I'm trying to have a conversation with you? I want to call out my son for something that I busted him doing while we were talking on the phone. That's all coming up this hour on the Mojo in the Morning Show, plus break up from makeup and another chance for you to go to our Jingle Ball. Man, I will tell you this, that Jingle Ball is going to be so much fun. There are so many artists that are going to be there. Yesterday, actually, Spike, you got an opportunity to talk to one of the artists that is going to be at the Jingle Ball.

01:21:08 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, in fact, I'm going to prepare. I have to go through and bleep some of it because it was quite the interesting interview. I never knew much about Nicky Yor, who's one of your acts on Jingle Ball. He is a filthy foul mouth. Oh, really? Well, he was totally high when we were talking, and admittedly, it was hilarious. He had just come in the night before or that morning from a party, and he was telling me about two celebrities that put his toes in their mouth. And when I tell you this is the funniest story you've ever heard, but he's at that era now because he had the big song of summer, Sunroof, that everybody's inviting him into his parties. So, like, this was the biggest song of summers. It, like, outpaced Harry Styles and Post Malone and a lot of other artists. So everybody's been inviting him to all the Hollywood parties now that he's in L.A. And he was telling me the funniest story about being in the pool, and Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox swam up to him at the pool and started talking, and next thing you know, the conversation... Are there swear words in the thing? I didn't hear it. Actually, you know what? I think I bleeped the one swear word. Okay.

01:22:22 - 01:22:22 | Speaker 1:

Can I play some of it?

01:22:22 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:22:23 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 1:

All right. Let's play some of it. So this is Nicky.

01:22:24 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 3:

Total stoner surfer dude. I have no idea when you look at his clean cut picture.

01:22:28 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 1:

It's funny because I know nothing about Nicky Yor. If I passed Nicky Yor in the hallway, I probably would know it was Nicky Yor. I would have no clue. But hold on one second here. Let's.

01:22:38 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Mojo in the morning. Hey, it's Nicky Yor. Hey, Nicky. It's Spike. How are you?

01:22:44 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good, man. How are you doing?

01:22:45 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 3:

Good. The one and only. Congratulations. It's nice to have you on the show this morning.

01:22:49 - 01:22:54 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I'm not going to lie. I'm not like a morning radio person because I'm usually tired as hell.

01:22:55 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 3:

Well, I know why you're tired. It's been a little bit of a whirlwind. I mean, let me set the scene here. Sunroof entered the music charts in May, and I was doing the math. It was exactly six months ago. And it went viral on TikTok with over 7 million videos, making it, of course, the summer anthem. And then radio picked it up, and then we realized it was the song of summer. And then you're getting more than 250 million Spotify streams. no wonder you're tired whoa at this point you're like 23 you have a job in computer sales how do you decide when to quit that job and chase the dream full-time dude i'm gonna tell you something

01:23:28 - 01:24:18 | Speaker 2:

that's gonna totally blow your mind like the song i made is like it's a total joke you know like dude i'm talking about a sunroof you know right originally it was called originally was called window you know i was like i got my arm out the window uh the wall no the wind is gonna blow Green light means no go Red light means no no I could change it It was a total joke and then I just put it out You know I'm not going to lie to you, I'm high right now I got to tell you something I have an aunt Give her to Hamtramck Of course we have, yeah I have an aunt that is from there And she is like a meth head And in jail Hold on, Aunt Bessie if you're listening Contact your family because she doesn't know what happened to you.

01:24:18 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no, she's down the hole. We don't even know where she's at right now? No, I have no idea. Oh, my God. We're going to put it out then. It's Aunt Bessie, okay? Yeah. How tall is she? Does she have any known tattoos?

01:24:29 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know, man. She's like, you're tripping me out right now, bro.

01:24:32 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, we'll find her. Don't worry.

01:24:34 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I got to tell you something. I don't even know if I'm supposed to say this, but I was at a party last night. This is, like, it's just the trip of my life, how it is now with the song taking off and, like, being famous. I was at a party last night in LA It was so cool Travis Barker was there Jeff Goldblum Machine Gun Kelly Megan Fox were there I was sitting in a pool I was sitting on the edge of a pool My feet were dangling in the water

01:25:00 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 3:

and machine gun kelly and megan fox are in the pool and they come up and they like swam up to me and they're all dude we love your song and talk to me and then machine gun kelly goes megan put one of his toes in your mouth and took my big toe and put it in my mouth and then she goes now i dare you and machine gun kelly put my other big toe in his mouth and i'm sitting there i got my toes in their mouth and i'm just like tripping out like oh my god this ride is crazy this is what

01:25:28 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 2:

happens when you hit number one it's a whole new level of parties if i come out there let me put my toes in your mouth it's oh it's on we're gonna do it on stage okay i'll do it but let me just make sure you clarify because you might be hide but did this really happen or you know do you

01:25:43 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 3:

just have let me tell you something it was like i've been going to some of the craziest things i've never even thought would happen you know like it's sick bro who's been the one person like as

01:25:51 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 2:

your song blew up and you're like holy hell i can't believe i'm in a room with blank like who's

01:25:56 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 3:

the person you were like holy they know who i am dude i was in a room no joke you know a guy i'm even like really known because he's a little older but his name is gary bucey oh yeah oh yeah he's a hot mess yeah i was in a room with him and like we were like comparing teeth dude he's got really

01:26:13 - 01:26:23 | Speaker 2:

big teeth yeah he's famous for his big caps like obviously he was in a bunch of movies in the 80s and stuff but the most important question did gary bucey put your toe in his mouth no

01:26:23 - 01:26:39 | Speaker 3:

No, he didn't do that But I tell you It was so funny He is like a spitter When he talks Yeah And like I told him that I said, dude You're spitting And he just Hocked a lube Right at me It was so Dude, he's such a trip, bro

01:26:39 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 2:

You're making me wonder If I really want to go To a Hollywood party or not It sounds like Oh, dude

01:26:43 - 01:26:45 | Speaker 3:

You have no idea, bro

01:26:45 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 2:

You wrote a song Called Sunroof We're broadcasting The Motor City, right? Have you been approached By any of the auto companies yet To use your song In a car commercial? Dude, no kidding. Wait. Because if Sunroof isn't a commercial, you're going to make bank. I'm sorry, dude. I just hit myself. Oh, that hurt. Where did you hit yourself?

01:27:05 - 01:27:10 | Speaker 3:

My stomach. I had beef jerky and beer earlier. My stomach is killing me.

01:27:10 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. You need to pause and hit a pooper real quick?

01:27:13 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 3:

No, it's okay.

01:27:14 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're excited to see you come to the Jingle Ball. We're excited to see you on stage. And I'm wondering, what's the vibe going to be?

01:27:20 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 3:

You know, magic is there, you know?

01:27:22 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 2:

Are you thinking you're going to do, like, a Christmas song or a cover song? What are you going to do? A little sing-alongs?

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 3:

Let's do a Christmas song together, a duet.

01:27:29 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay. What do you want to hit?

01:27:31 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 3:

Here, I'll do. Chestnuts roasting on an open file. Now your turn.

01:27:35 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 2:

Jack Frost nipping at your nose.

01:27:40 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Spike is a big old tractor driver.

01:27:45 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 2:

And Megan Fox toes are in your mouth.

01:27:49 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 3:

That's a hit.

01:27:50 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

I feel like we got something here. What? I need you to convince the Backstreet Boys fans that are coming to Jingle Ball to not take a bathroom break while you're on stage. They've got to stay for your show. Go ahead. Tell them why.

01:28:03 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 3:

Dude, Backstreet Boys are on next. You don't want to miss them, but I'm on right now.

01:28:11 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 2:

We'll work on that a little bit.

01:28:12 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 3:

Dude, you're cool, brother.

01:28:13 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

So as we're saying goodbye here, I'm going to bump into you backstage at Little Caesars Arena, December 6th, and I'm going to want to try and impress my girlfriend and make it seem like you and I are buds. So do you have like an embarrassing nickname or do you have something I can call you so I can fake it and pretend we go back?

01:28:27 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 3:

You can just call me by my real last name, which is you're, like you're a dirtbag.

01:28:31 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 2:

Ah, okay, that's the full one, okay.

01:28:33 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 3:

And then I'll see you and I'll be like, hey, you dirtbag. And then you can look at me like, hey, what's up, bro? And I'll just be like, what? Why is your girl with you, bro?

01:28:41 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 2:

And she might want to put her toes in your mouth or something, I don't know.

01:28:44 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Dude, you are sick, bro.

01:28:45 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 2:

And then I'll go find Aunt Bessie just to get back at you. I'll start dating Aunt Bessie and Hamtram.

01:28:49 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 3:

Dude, that would be hot, bro. Let's flop.

01:28:53 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

iHeartRadio, Channel 955 Jingle Ball, presented by Capital One. Nikki Yor on stage, plus some other dudes, Backstreet Boys, Khalid, The Kid, Leroy, Macklemore, and maybe Aunt Bessie.

01:29:03 - 01:29:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, dude, that's going to be fun, bro.

01:29:05 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 2:

It will. We're looking forward to seeing you and looking forward to meeting you in person. All right, keep it tight and puck it up, bro. Got you, Nikki Yor on Channel 955. Oh, my God. How much more do you love this guy now? Because when I saw his picture, like Mojo said, he looked like a puppy dog.

01:29:20 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 1:

He looks like a very clean cut. I was like, that dude's a pop star? How did he get through? Like his name should be Chet. I don't know. This is after the show. When did you do this interview?

01:29:32 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 2:

No, he kept asking me to come back later, later. Can we hook up later? So it wasn't until like 5.30 at night. And it's because he went to this party and didn't wake up until like 3 in the afternoon L.A. time.

01:29:44 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 1:

I got to be honest with you. I love this guy, and I'm going to love him even more when he gets up on stage and we actually get to hear from the real Nicky Yor. It's going to be so much fun.

01:29:57 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean?

01:29:59 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

01:30:01 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 2:

Was that the fake Nicky Yor?

01:30:02 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 3:

That was not Nicky Yor.

01:30:03 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 2:

Did you just, you dude seriously make me come back and do a fake interview?

01:30:06 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 3:

That was our buddy Tingle from Chicago.

01:30:09 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I wonder. No. I was like, he's kind of being rude to Michigan.

01:30:18 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 3:

And you've been phone scammed, Spike.

01:30:20 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Now I know why.

01:30:23 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 1:

By the way, none of us knew None of us knew except for Mojo Until this morning I came in and he was listening to it And I go, oh my god, is that seriously Nicky Yor? And he just

01:30:38 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 2:

I wasn't going to tell anybody You know why I should have suspected? Because Mojo immediately wanted to play it on the air And I'm like, we did much bigger interviews last week Than he didn't play

01:30:50 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 3:

So, can I let the listeners in on something? So, just so they kind of, a little inside, behind the curtain type stuff. So, our boss has these interviews for breaking and entering, or whatever it's called, jingle ball. Yeah. And so, everybody's been doing interviews. Like, KP, you did Tate McRae. I did... AJR. AJR. You know, stuff like that. And everybody's going to do interviews. Well, Spike got Nicky Yor, and I said to Tony, I go, Do you think anybody knows what Nicky Yor sounds like Other than the song Sunroof And he goes no And I go What do you think about the idea Of us phone scamming Spike Because nobody really knows what Nicky Yor sounds like And behind the scenes

01:31:30 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 2:

I was pissed because the boss kept saying I really need you to come back to the station and do it And I'm going dude We're not going to play the interview Mojo didn't even play We've had big stars in the last month That we interviewed and we never aired Because we just You know I think listeners like You know they don't care as much about their lives Like we like hearing about listeners lives

01:31:46 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 3:

I can't hear him talking And I'm like, man, he's talking his own song and he's making fun of Michigan. Let me do another behind the curtain thing. So behind the curtain on this one more. When you do an interview with these guys, they go on and on and on. You edit it down so that radio wise, it's quick and fun. Yeah. So I went back to listen to the interview, the full interview that you did, which was like 12 minutes long. Yeah. Can I play you cuts of the interview that did not make it?

01:32:11 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 2:

I could tell you one part that's hilarious. He's mad that I didn't know his music. And he's like, you never heard my albums? And I'm thinking, this is where I clocked in and said, this dude's so high. He does not have an album. I did so much research. And he's like, no, dude, I got a bunch of albums back in 2017. And he starts naming. And I'm like, what? You're high, dude. You're high. I know your record label. They're waiting for an album from you.

01:32:38 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 3:

So our buddy Tingle does the interview. And our buddy Tingle calls me right afterwards and goes, dude, you cannot let Spike edit that interview and not hear some of the stuff that i said so we just scammed spike just a couple minutes ago it was not nikki yor it was our our friend in chicago that does morning radio there sherman and tingle tingle and here's some of the stuff that didn't make what you just heard

01:33:00 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

so take a listen hold on hello mojo in the morning hey it's nikki yor hey nikki it's spike how are you by the way when you listen to that as soon as he called i'm like this this can't be the guy in the pictures hey good man how are you doing good the one and only congratulations it's nice to have you on the show this morning thank you i'm not gonna lie i'm not like a morning radio person because i'm usually tired as hell so right well i know why you're tired it's been a little bit of a whirlwind i mean let me set the scene here sunroof entered the music charts in may and i was doing the math it was exactly six months ago and it went viral on tiktok with over seven million videos making it of course the summer anthem and then radio picked it up and then we realized it was the song of summer and then you're getting more than 250 million spotify streams no wonder you're tired dude you're like the research king or something man oh my god so okay real quick back to this what's your name again spike i'm spike how'd you get that name dude i had stupid punk rock hair when i was 16 and it just stuck with me forever i didn't know it was gonna stick with me forever yeah let me ask you a question bro do you like sunroof or no i do what other if you had to pick another song what's your favorite uh another song off the radio right now or you mean like oh no one of mine oh so that's the thing i was gonna ask you because i haven't heard any of your other songs yet whoa so like and i know you went in their recording studio i'm sure they've been pushing me to get an album out there quick so what are we gonna see next like are are you gonna you know obviously do some live music first do some touring and then get in the to the album or you have an album ready to go? You honestly haven't heard any of the songs? No, no, they haven't hooked me up. You're telling me you have an album and they have not given it to me before this interview? Dude. I'm embarrassed for me and I'm embarrassed for this company that they didn't even do that for me. That's all good, bro. I'm going to put my toe in your mouth. Yeah, but no, because I was even, you know, doing a little research on you before this interview.

01:35:00 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 4:

And I was surprised to see that they haven't rushed out an album based on the success of the song this summer. Did I have two albums out? No, you don't. You're lying to me. I do. I started out. My first one is 2017. Oh, oh, okay. It's called Tractor Boy. Okay. So you mean like independent stuff? Yeah. Okay. So you could, is it easy to find? Tractor Boy 2 was in 2020. Okay. So Tractor Boy to Sunroof. I'm just believing that you just pop an edible and write about whatever comes to your mind. That's what I do, bro. Dude, I like you. You're funny. No, you're a blast. I love it. This is fun to have an unfiltered artist on who's not afraid to tell us what really goes on at Hollywood parties. Dude, whatever, bro. No, because there's a lot of artists that will come on, and they're so guarded, we don't even want to do interviews.

01:35:47 - 01:35:47 | Speaker 1:

Dude, whatever.

01:35:47 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 4:

But I'm going to get you a gig where you're in the car commercial, because if Sunroof is in a commercial, you're going to make bank. You're going to make so much money. Let me tell you, Eminem did a Super Bowl commercial for Chrysler. He made so much money, he never called us again. I mean, we also had his ex-wife on the show talking about what was in his underpants, but I don't want to dredge up dirty details. I'm just saying, my point is, he's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame now, so we've got to get you some of that commercial money. I'm sorry, dude. I just hit myself. Oh, that hurt. Where did you hit yourself? My stomach. I had beef jerky and beer earlier on my stomach. Oh, man, you need to pause and hit a pooper real quick? No, it's okay. Okay, cool, cool. All right, I'm sorry, bro. What did you say? Well, we're excited to see you come to the Jingle Ball. Dude, you're cool, bro. What do you go by? Is it like stick? I'm sorry, what did you say again? Spike. Stick. No, Spike. Spike. Sorry. Yeah.

01:36:48 - 01:36:48 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:36:50 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay, all right, so this is it. I Heart Radio, Channel 955 Jingle Ball, presented by Capital One. Nikki, you're on stage, plus some other dudes, Backstreet Boys, Khalid, The Kid, Leroy, Macklemore, and maybe Aunt Fessy. You say? I didn't hear that. That's all the people that are going to be on the show with you. Oh, my God. Oh, dude, I didn't know where you were going with that. Yeah, yeah. I'm just wrapping it up and letting everybody know if they want to see you when you come to the D.

01:37:15 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 1:

Dude, you're sick, bro.

01:37:18 - 01:37:20 | Speaker 4:

All right. I don't know where you're going with that.

01:37:20 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 3:

would you imagine if he ran to him if you never told him and then he ran into him backstage

01:37:27 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 4:

I was trying so hard to keep this dude on track like they really want me to do this interview for some reason I gotta make something out of it now I realize why obviously Tony knew the whole time and then Tony said hey I need a copy of that you know cause iHeart's keeping track of all these interviews we do I need it the same day, which now I realize why, because Mojo wanted it, but I'm like thinking... It's so hard to scam you.

01:37:54 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 2:

It really is. And I was thinking

01:37:56 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 4:

when he said, I really need to copy that interview today, I'm thinking, oh, well, they're not going to let us play it. As soon as the record label hears how high he was, they're not going to let

01:38:04 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 2:

us play this interview. How did you not text any of us yesterday and say, you guys, I just interviewed Nicky Yor, and he was zooted. I was just so pissed

01:38:14 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 4:

I had to come back. My girlfriend was cooking this big meal, and I'm like, well, I don't get to eat here tonight. Sorry.

01:38:21 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 3:

He did text me. We texted last night about it. He said he was super high, and I'm like, oh, my God, I want to hear it so bad.

01:38:27 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 4:

I know.

01:38:28 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, dude, that's going to be fun, bro.

01:38:34 - 01:39:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I got, like, my. By the way, this is the second scam that Tingle did on our show. He scammed Shannon back when she was getting married. The week before your wedding. It was, like, three days before my wedding. And the funniest was he was going to, at the end, go, dude, this is Tingle. I'm getting you back for the Shannon scam. But he's like, you know what? In his head, he came up with the idea of doing it live on the air just to get your reaction. And Reese, I hope you have, like, video of Spike's reaction to that.

01:39:02 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I got videos, pictures. I love it.

01:39:04 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. We got to do it. By the way, my glasses are so fogged up because I was laughing so hard during that. Oh, my God, that was so dang funny. Dude, I'm going to put those in as drops.

01:39:11 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, the whole time, like, I saw Reese filming me, and I'm thinking, why are we running this? I would have edited it down to a nice, tight, three-minute interview.

01:39:18 - 01:39:36 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was – actually, if every interview was like that, I would do more interviews on the show. That was actually funny. If every artist was like that open. All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning show. KP, our executive producer, has now brought her habits from home into the office.

01:39:36 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know how to follow up. That was awesome. Okay. Yes, I have brought my habits to work and been adjusting. And I realized when I was pulling out a condiment of the fridge that I left my half and half from the first week of work, which, mind you, I've been here almost three months, in the fridge.

01:40:00 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 4:

And I realized that I'm starting to make this place a little bit more homey by bringing my home habits to work. I'm the type of person who, when I buy produce or something, I literally leave the cucumber in the fridge until it is absolutely disintegrated and I have to take it out with a hazmat suit.

01:40:17 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 3:

What is it that, because I do the same thing too, but what is the reasoning? Do you do it because you feel guilty if you just took it and threw it in the garbage?

01:40:25 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So I feel guilty because I buy it. I'm like, oh, I'm going to use this in my food this week. I even plan everything out. And then I just leave it in there. I never get to it. Or someone will ask me to lunch or something, and I end up missing a meal. And it will stay there until the end of time, until I no longer feel guilty because it is so hairy that I have to throw it in the trash. But this half and half has been in the fridge. And I'm like, oh, man, this isn't my fridge. This is the community fridge. I can't be like, I can't be my normal home habit self here.

01:40:59 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 3:

What's the expiration date on the-

01:41:02 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

01:41:03 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 3:

Because that's the thing you look at and do it.

01:41:05 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 2:

By the way, you've had half and half here. You were using my half here.

01:41:07 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I haven't seen your half and half because I knew you were going to give me some crap or something, so that's why I brought my own half and half.

01:41:14 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 2:

Don't worry about that. Everybody does that.

01:41:16 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 1:

It's a science experiment in there.

01:41:17 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 2:

But everybody does that at home too. You ever see that meme where everybody buys the little, the baby spinach and we always think we're going to get healthy this week and then we just throw out the baby spinach a week

01:41:25 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 4:

later. I think I've got some arugula in my fridge at home. It's like four weeks old.

01:41:29 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 3:

You know what's wild is that I will bring things to the office fridge that will get me in trouble if it's still in my fridge at home because Chelsea will be like, did you buy that salad or whatever? I'll buy a salad in the deli counter section of the grocery store of Kroger and I won't eat it right away. And so I'll know, oh God, if I throw it away, Chelsea's going to say, You're never allowed to go to Kroger ever again So what I do is I bring it into the radio station Put it in the fridge here And then never eat it here And then put it in the I still think I have all that chicken

01:42:02 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 1:

The frozen chicken in there from when I lost my power Over the summer

01:42:04 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 4:

I think I do, I gotta go get it I'm about to eat everything in the fridge It's taking everything not to eat everybody's stuff in there

01:42:11 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 2:

Well don't eat the ice cream because that's from before COVID So there's like still ice cream in there from four years ago

01:42:16 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 4:

Oh good Oops Oops.

01:42:18 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 2:

It was from, oh no, she ate it. That was from our anniversary party we did in like February 2000. Oh my God. I mean, 2020.

01:42:26 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 3:

Does ice cream go bad as long as it's frozen?

01:42:28 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 1:

It tastes bad.

01:42:29 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 3:

It just tastes bad. Yeah, it gets frosted, freezer burned. I think I've had an ice cream guy that used to come to my neighborhood that used to have freezer burned ice cream all the time. It was like the worst.

01:42:37 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 4:

I could tell you guys are bringing your habits to work too because somebody has not cleaned that crusty oatmeal out of the microwave in so long. Who could have that have been? Wow.

01:42:44 - 01:42:53 | Speaker 2:

I wonder. That is not obvious. Sirius, Reese is my third teenager because he never cleans up after himself. And that's like my big pet peeve. It drives me crazy.

01:42:53 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 4:

I was freaking out the other day because I had like two-week-old Dolma in our fridge.

01:42:57 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. But like Reese, I'll come in and go, who spilled coffee all over? And Reese would be like, oh, yeah, it exploded. And then it just sits there all day. And I'm trying to like, I'm trying to gently hint like, oh, someone opened their oatmeal packet and it exploded all over the carpet. And Reese would be like, yeah, that was me. There's just so many explosions. That night it was still there, and I vacuumed it up like a day later. It was still there. I'm like, why am I cleaning up his mess?

01:43:20 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 3:

So Lydia brings up a really interesting thing. She talked about her mom made doma, which is, you know, Chaldean stuffed grape leaves and, you know, onions and things like that. Really cool, good stuff. So I will, if I have food that I've made or somebody's made for me, I have to eat it within like three days because if I don't eat it within three days, I just assume that it's old. And then a friend of mine is a manager of a restaurant, and he told me that they serve some time stuff sometimes for seven to ten days it's still considered good yeah it's still they can yeah sometimes it's like little things like appetizer stuff and things like that so you know you don't know it you think it's all great and new but you

01:44:01 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 2:

could eat all the stuff that's in our refrigerator probably i have this deadly allergy to chicken and turkey product like it it closes my throat and kills me and i have to be careful in restaurants Because one of the biggest tricks they do back in the kitchen to stretch stuff out and make it last five days in a row is they'll keep adding chicken stock to stuff like soups and other things to make it last and keep stretching it out for days. And so I'll find things that are even labeled as vegetarian or vegan, add chicken stock to make it to next day. And they just figure, well, you don't know what you want. It's just trace amount of chicken. But no, for me, it'll kill me. It's not just a matter of being vegetarian.

01:44:39 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 3:

Jordan, what's up?

01:44:40 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

so it's lucky my wife lives with me because she would never throw anything out she's looking for food it's like she's like where's the where's the sandwich meat it's like i threw that out well why it had hair growing on it

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 3:

was going to eat that, right? Is that what

01:45:01 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 1:

they said? Yeah. I'm like, I almost gagged just throwing it out. Why are you looking for that? Can I tell you

01:45:07 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 5:

though, the one time that I will eat food way past than what it's supposed to be good is Thanksgiving. I will eat Thanksgiving leftovers the

01:45:15 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 2:

following week. Because you just make a sandwich out of all of it. So good. And it's so good. What's up,

01:45:19 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 5:

Lisa? Hey,

01:45:21 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, you got to pay Gina $25 annually to clean out your fridge. Gina, the

01:45:27 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 5:

cleaning lady's the greatest. She probably would. Actually, we need to pay Gina just to take care of us. There's been times where Gina will come up to me and she'll go, you guys are messy. Like, she'll tell me about the stuff that we're doing. I'm like, oh, I'm sorry, Gina.

01:45:41 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. We had that contest three months ago to shave your beaver for Justin Bieber, whatever it was. And there's still the razors and the hair is still all over our office. Nobody ever cleaned up after.

01:45:51 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, just sitting there waiting. But that's going to be something I'm re-gifting. I'll give it to Mike as a present. Get a new razor that shaved a beaver. Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:00 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 1:

The world famous phone scams happen at 6.50, 7.50, and 9.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:09 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning show. Mike is losing his dad card.

01:46:16 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 4:

What did you do? Well, I went and got one of those inflatable Christmas decorations. Oh. I saw that. Yeah. Yeah, like my first one. It's kind of like the start to. Hold on. I'm going to look real quick. Is it still up on your on-air mic? No, no, no, no. I posted it in my story for a second, because I was super excited about it, and then it just kind of disappeared. But I can send it to the group. Oh, there it is. No, it's on. I got it. I see it.

01:46:41 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, okay. It's right there. It's on-air mic. It's in the story still.

01:46:45 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 4:

So when I posted that, immediately I got like three or four DMs, and one or two was like, hey, where did you get that? That's cool. I can't believe you started Christmas decorations already. and then the other ones were like what is going on with your lawn and if you look at where it's sitting that's supposed to be where mulch goes like there's supposed to be mulch right there and i've been in that house for two years and i have yet to put in any sort of mulch or any sort of anything there and in the the in halloween like it looks real like it looks spooky you put

01:47:19 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 3:

pumpkins there it looks good but and again how you just moved into this house no two years ago

01:47:24 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 5:

two years ago okay yeah gotcha the funny isn't it funny we talked about uh listeners that can spot like when spikes if you guys have not seen spikes bed made by him or made by his girlfriend megan

01:47:36 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 3:

you gotta look at that but people were zooming in on the smallest it's crazy well and mike's too now i'm looking i'm zooming in i made fun of mike but i did it last night i immediately zoomed in on that photo mike when you posted it was like hmm mike i think he's using an indoor cord that's not UL listed to use outdoors. That white cord is not meant to be an outdoor cord. I'm going to have a fire.

01:47:58 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 4:

That's the cord that goes to the inflatable

01:48:02 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 3:

to the graduation? Really?

01:48:05 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 5:

Mike's that neighbor too with all the inflatables in front. How many

01:48:07 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 2:

inflatables you got, Mike? He's only got one inside. That's my first one. I like that. How many are you going to get now? I know you.

01:48:14 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 4:

You know what I want is one of those giant skeletons and then I want to use it for Halloween and for Christmas. You know what? I saw the coolest

01:48:20 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 2:

inflatable. I think it was at Home Depot or something, and it's a big movie screen, and it plays a Christmas story on it. That's awesome.

01:48:28 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 3:

That's great, unless you're the neighbor, and all

01:48:30 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 2:

night you hear... My neighbor would love it.

01:48:34 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 4:

And you're worried about... Spike, you're worried about that cord, but there's no grass there, because I failed my line.

01:48:40 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Mike's neighbor. Welcome to Mike's neighbor. What? Merry Christmas, everybody. I said I like

01:48:48 - 01:49:08 | Speaker 3:

a Christmas story. What? i said i'm jewish that's that's the aguilars next door it's surprisingly quiet is it really is it and then during the day when they're not on when you turn the the fan off it just looks like garbage littered all over the front lawn well i uh i've only done that a couple

01:49:08 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 4:

times but if you leave it like that especially when it snows or when it rains it collects water so i don't even take it down anymore i just have it on all the time leave it up all the time yeah

01:49:16 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 5:

By the way, this picture on on-air Mike of the Grinch, what's the proximity to the children's bedroom? Because this thing would never happen in our house when the kids were younger if the kids' bedroom was close and they would be up all night because of this.

01:49:34 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 3:

It could be like a noise machine, lull them to sleep. It's like a fan.

01:49:38 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 4:

It's on the opposite side of the kids' bedroom, so they can't see it.

01:49:42 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Close enough to neighbor Doug's bedroom. Yeah, so, okay, why are we taking away a dad card today? Whose card are we taking away? You want to call?

01:50:00 - 01:50:16 | Speaker 2:

out your guy or maybe a friend's guy, whoever, that dad card is getting taken away because they, like Mike, aren't keeping up with their grass and their yard. You see how many leaves I have in front of my house right now. I'm just praying, and they all commiserate in one area.

01:50:17 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 5:

Because the wind just blows them there.

01:50:19 - 01:50:36 | Speaker 2:

And the snow's going to come, and it's going to be snow leaves all over the place. I'm like, why do I go out there? They'll just blow away. My poor neighbor, so my neighbor Jen was out the other night at like 8 o'clock at night in the dark, raking her leaves and blowing her leaves. I'm like, you are a do-gooder.

01:50:37 - 01:50:40 | Speaker 5:

What are you doing? Do you want to come too much?

01:50:40 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, please. And I'm realizing how bad it is that I'm the one that's living next door. Have you had the leaf neighbor yet?

01:50:48 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

01:50:49 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 2:

I know they were outside, right?

01:50:51 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 5:

So I have a neighbor, if you miss me talking about this, it's a tradition at this point, but I have a little old lady who lives across the street from me and her and her husband hate the fact that my leaves blow across the street into their yard. And so every year I wait for it, she'll flag me down in my driveway and say, there are a lot of oak trees in my yard and I don't seem to have an oak tree as she's looking at the oak tree in my yard. So this year, the husband took it a step further. I know her name. I don't know his name. And I caught him in my yard taking a picture of my tree for like proof that I'm the one that has the oak tree that's blowing all the leaves over to their yard. I don't know what he plans to do with that photo, but there he was in my yard taking photos of it.

01:51:38 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 2:

I love the-

01:51:39 - 01:51:40 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that great?

01:51:40 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

The neighbor next door.

01:51:41 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 5:

Which by the way, my leaves are clean now, but-

01:51:44 - 01:51:47 | Speaker 2:

Gets judgy on that. Right. I will say this.

01:51:47 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 5:

I have to wait for them all to fall. I have so many big, tall trees around my house. I have to wait for all of them to fall or else I have to do it like three times.

01:51:53 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 2:

I do feel bad because you have neighbors that really take great care of their lawn.

01:51:57 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:51:57 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 2:

Like the people across the street from me, this husband and wife, they are out there. I feel so bad for them. There's more trees that are right by their house. And then the wind blows a tunnel right by their house. And I feel so bad for this woman. She must have like 35 of those brown bags in front of her house with leaves in them. and it's just, it's all my leaves that are all over the place at that particular house. What's up? In that situation, when your leaves go into somebody else's yard, that's their leaves to take care of. That's Mother Nature. Yeah, right?

01:52:30 - 01:52:39 | Speaker 5:

Well, in my neighborhood, too, we're lucky. We can rake them all to the street, and then, like, you know, the truck will come in and suck them up.

01:52:39 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 2:

Blow them right back in your yard.

01:52:40 - 01:52:45 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, so that's what happens. People put them all in the street, and then on a windy day, they just blow everywhere anyway.

01:52:45 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 2:

Possession is 90 Was it 99 cents of the law Or something like that You have it

01:52:49 - 01:53:11 | Speaker 3:

I had the You could take away my dad card Because I was putting up The Christmas trees The lights on Saturday Outside my house And my neighbor Greg Comes over to say hi And I always have a speaker Blasting But this was the song I'm like Putting up my Christmas lights And Taylor Swift You belong to me Is blasting out of my speaker And I'm like Singing along He just looked at me like Dad card gone

01:53:11 - 01:53:13 | Speaker 2:

Really dude What's up Adam

01:53:13 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 4:

Hey so you guys were talking about the um the inflatable christmas decorations there's a house by me that has over a hundred of them out at the same time wow that there has to be crazy right i can't imagine and we we drove by and we stopped counting at 100 because like we couldn't you know we didn't stop and um there was one time last year we had this crazy like 60 mile an hour windstorm And so my wife and I were like, we have to drive by to see what she's doing. It goes sideways, right? It was a hurricane went through. All of them were blown up against the house. It was just crazy.

01:53:50 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:53:51 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it funny that those are the neighbors that you just feel bad for, too, at that moment, but you love laughing at them? What's up, Casey?

01:54:00 - 01:54:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi. My comment is about the leaf. We don't have, like, a mean leaf neighbor, but we have that neighbor every fall when we go out and rake our leaves. they have to go out there and rake their leaves as well so that way their yard doesn't look bad compared to ours and in the summer it's the same thing when we go out and mow our yard here they

01:54:18 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 3:

come mowing their yard but why are you complaining about that that actually looks nice doesn't it

01:54:23 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 1:

they're doing their job about it it's just it's funny because when i go out and mow or go out and rake it's i can expect them to just watch me doing what i'm doing out in the yard which is kind of creepy but i know here they come i know they're gonna come and meanwhile they're complaining

01:54:39 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

about you going oh great she's out there doing her right now we gotta rake our leaves uh thanks for the call i appreciate it uh that's someone who never lived next to a nightmare neighbor like she's complaining that they come out and clean their yard after she cleans her you've never had the other side where you go oh my god why won't they mow their lawn listeners

01:55:00 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 5:

Want to know also from Mike, did you get in trouble for talking about Allie yesterday on the show and the explosive fart?

01:55:08 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 2:

She gave me she gave me crap for it all day. And that wasn't meant to be a pun, but that's basically what it was. Like she went to the bathroom right before we put the kids to bed and she kept just walking around and I'd say something and she'd just look at me dead face and go.

01:55:26 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:55:28 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to get you caught up on what's trending right now. Shannon, what do you got in the Dirty Eye in 30s?

01:55:32 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 1:

Well, Jennifer Aniston said goodbye to her sweet papa, her dad, in an Instagram post. Her dad, John Aniston, best known, I think, probably for days of our lives, passed away on Friday. He was 89 years old. And Jen wrote, you were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew. I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace and without pain. And on 11-11, no less. You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now. Is 11-11 something? What is it? Well, 11-11, a lot of people believe it's a lucky number, but maybe it was her angel number. You know, a number that she kept seeing or something.

01:56:07 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 5:

I thought it was something from Days of Our Lives or whatever.

01:56:10 - 01:56:12 | Speaker 1:

You're supposed to make a wish at 11-11. Yeah, 11-11, you've got to make a wish.

01:56:12 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 5:

So can I tell you something I thought was really bad? I was shocked that the tabloids did this. So the tabloids took pictures of John Aniston at a Costco. Like a few days back And to show how frail he was At the time And they snapped a hundred photos And I saw this on I don't know it was TMZ or whatever And I saw it I'm going How crazy is that that they do this to this poor old man That you know to be honest with you Has lived a great life But they were like the whole tabloid story About him was Jennifer Aniston's estranged father And it was like that was what the story was about And then he died and now it's And she, of course, sends her love for him. So, sad.

01:56:56 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 1:

Pete Davidson has done it again. He's got another new hot girlfriend. He and model Emily Ratajkowski are dating. Been talking for a couple of months now, from what I'm being told. And while their relationship is still in the very early stages, they really like each other. They're set up by mutual friends. She is beautiful. She just got divorced over the summer from her husband of four years. They share a little boy together. And then, of course, Pete split from Kim Kardashian a few months ago. So also, while we're talking about Pete Davidson, he has a great new commercial for the holidays for the Manscaped. And it's the premise of it is Santa stole his Manscaped and left a trail of white hair from the present to the fireplace. Merry Christmas, Pete.

01:57:36 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 3:

It's a Manscaped package with lotions and sprays and trimmers. And where's the lawnmower? There's a note. Dear Pete, may you have a Merry Christmas and a smooth New Year.

01:57:50 - 01:59:15 | Speaker 1:

all the hair it's awesome uh did you guys see this story about jeopardy i mean i know megan you still watch jeopardy yeah i you love jeopardy okay so celebrity jeopardy is being slammed by fans for a tasteless clue this was on sunday night's episode i believe the category revolved around the letter A. The answer was this. In 2021, fugitive Brian Laundrie ended his days in Florida's Mayacatchee Creek area, home to these long and toothy critters. And the correct answer was, what are alligators? Well, viewers were really upset because it was so insensitive. Brian Laundrie, if you're not recalling that name, he was the kid who confessed to killing his 22-year-old girlfriend Gabby Petito in a notebook before taking his own life. This was about a year ago while the couple were traveling across the country in a van remember that story so some fan comments to jeopardy on social media this is appalling and completely insensitive shame on you jeopardy another one what in the hell is wrong with you have you no soul i can't believe this question got past your lawyers no comment from jeopardy as of yet i just checked their social media but uh jimmy kimmel gonna be hosting the first oscars since last year's little incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock, and he said the slap is bound to come up at some point during the show.

01:59:16 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 4:

It's got to come up in some way. You know, I don't want to really make light of it necessarily, but of course, you have to. Just like when they read the wrong winner one year when I hosted the Oscars, we had to make mention of that the next year. I think, yeah, there'll be something.

01:59:30 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 5:

I want to see, like, Chris Rock at least do what he was doing last year, And that is going up on stage to do like an award presentation and be able to actually go up there and say something like I think that's why I can't figure out his endgame.

01:59:43 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 6:

If he was saving it for a comedy special or if he was saving it for a possible lawsuit, like I couldn't figure out why. It's not like Chris Rock to be silent on something, especially something so public. So I wanted to know why he was doing it. And the only thing I could think of was he had a Netflix deal or something and he was going to make his.

02:00:00 - 02:00:17 | Speaker 1:

First comment be the jokes in the special. Well, he had the shows right after it happened, so it could have happened then. But you know what I mean? But he chose not to host. Remember the first few shows, and everybody was saying he didn't mention it, and it was only like halfway through the tour that he made a little joke about it, but it hasn't been a focus in his shows for sure.

02:00:17 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 3:

They've got to be so careful on how they handle it because I feel like if they make a big joke out of what happened, that's not going to go over well either.

02:00:24 - 02:00:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. And lastly, Evander Holyfield has joined Mike Tyson to sell ear-shaped edibles. They're called Holy Ears. Oh, my God. He plans to release his own line of cannabis next year. He actually admitted he hadn't tried it until he got his first Holy Ears sample. Evander said, I wanted to make sure I got home and didn't do anything to anyone. I ate it and laid down. I woke up the next morning and was like, whoa. Holy Ears. For all of today's dirty, check out the Dirty page at MonroeInTheMorning.com.

Like, what you'll see at the night besides all the artists. like which members of our on-air staffs are going to be up on stage. And it's going to be like a cool family affair situation. Now, back to Mojo in the morning.

02:02:48 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. Jeremy from Gordon Chevrolet is here right now Let me just tell you guys something about why I love these guys I need an oil change And they know when my oil needs to be changed Jeremy, come on over here, microphone I am, is this bad to say this? I'm like 1,000, 1,700 miles over my oil change

02:03:09 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, and they keep track because they know you're not going to keep track

02:03:12 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 2:

Well, they keep track because of my OnStar So my OnStar kept notifying so jeremy jeremy called jeremy called me and he and mona called me and mike uh from gordon chevrolet and said hey you know we will pick up your car and go in so jeremy thank you buddy i appreciate it i didn't know you were now you've never been in the studio before well yeah actually i've never been in your studio it's very nice yes it's very nice of you to uh come in here command central this is really honestly not that nice i apologize we tried to make it nice because We're getting, you know, people with donations for Breaking in and Christmas Wish. Which, by the way, Gordon Chevrolet is going to give us a donation. Mike's going to be on with us in the coming days to make a donation to Breaking in and Christmas Wish. We clean it up whenever we have guests coming over. It's kind of like when you have relatives come over for Thanksgiving that you need to impress. This is what we do. Definitely understand that. Well, thank you so much. So quick question for you. If you are going to take my car, what car am I taking? Well, you have a really nice 2023 Traverse, one that I'm actually driving. Oh, okay. All right. I was kind of hoping for like a vet or something, but I guess the snow is not. Well, I checked the weather forecast. I think it would probably be very good to bring that. I don't think I could fit in one. Do you guys think I could fit? Into a Corvette? No. Do you think I could fit?

02:04:33 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:04:34 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't that be funny? Do you remember the time when Big Boy was here and Big Boy and I went through the drive-thru and what was that, a smart car?

02:04:40 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 1:

It was the smart cars. When they first came out, we put both of you in the McDonald's drive-thru, and it was bottoming out. It was, like, scraping.

02:04:46 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

We had 600 pounds of man meat inside that thing. Well, meat, our bodies. I think, Mojo, you and I could fit in a Corvette, but I think getting out of it would be hard.

02:04:58 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

We definitely need some help.

02:05:00 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 2:

Thank you guys so much, Gordon. I appreciate you so much. Thanks for stopping by and doing this. All right. Mojo in the morning show. We're going to do breakup or makeup this morning. And we want you to help with a listener who's got a little bit of problems going on. If you ever want to be on breakup or makeup, you can text breakup or makeup to 95500 to be on our show. on the show with us this morning are gianna and spencer who gianna how long have you guys been

02:05:31 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 4:

uh together with each other um it's been about six months six months all right so six months

02:05:41 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 2:

together dating and spencer there's a little bit of an age difference between you guys right how old are you uh yeah i'm 32 and gianna how old are you uh i'm 23 23 okay and what is it that you want to do spencer that gianna is not as excited about doing right now i guess just keep moving forward

02:06:09 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Like, I want to get engaged, you know. Gosh.

02:06:14 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 1:

I guess she's not ready for that. Oh, boy. Based on that reaction, I'm going to say she's not ready.

02:06:18 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that was not good.

02:06:19 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 2:

You guys have only been together, though, six months.

02:06:23 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 3:

You want to get engaged right now? Or you're talking about, like, the potential for that in the future? Or do you want it to happen, like, tomorrow?

02:06:32 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 5:

I want to get engaged, like, you know, soon. Like, we're, you know, we're already living together and stuff. So I think, you know, I want to get engaged.

02:06:42 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 2:

And what is the, besides the obvious, Gianna, what are some of the holdups that you have of why you don't want to get engaged right now?

02:06:50 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I understand that he feels like he's getting older, but I'm 23, you know. I don't want to get engaged just yet. We've been dating for six months, and I'm not saying that I can't see a life with Spencer.

02:07:05 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Right.

02:07:05 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 4:

But I, you know, I want to see, I mean, I don't want to rush into something. My parents got married at a young age and they hate each other.

02:07:17 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 3:

So I don't want that to happen to us. I think that's very fair.

02:07:21 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do too.

02:07:22 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 3:

And you said you want to continue in the relationship. It's not like you can't see it ever happening. It's just too soon after six months.

02:07:28 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 2:

Spencer, I know you say that you're getting older. You're 32. What are you racing for? 32 is still also young.

02:07:35 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, I want to get married and stuff like that, especially, you know, my friends are, my buddies and stuff are getting married and having kids, and, you know, I want to still be young when the kids are, you know, a little older, you know, 10 or something, you know, and I guess what...

02:07:55 - 02:08:06 | Speaker 2:

So you think you think that if you wait too long that you're going to be too old to be a dad, even though I mean, there's plenty of people that have kids later, especially men.

02:08:08 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 5:

I mean, yeah, I guess it's a big part of it. And, you know, I just I want to I want to get married and start start the life, you know, and I don't know what's frustrating me, though, is like when Gianna and I got together, like she said that she was all in. Like those were her words I'm all in

02:08:27 - 02:08:30 | Speaker 1:

Well it sounds like she is To the relationship I am

02:08:30 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 5:

That's not being all in That's being all in on step one Not all the steps Well I think you're

02:08:38 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 4:

Well okay I didn't say I was all in on Let's get matching grave plots You know this is I I love you babe And I do see a future with us But I think that you know If we wait maybe a year or two you're not going to be an old man if we have kids you know i just i it's it's interesting isn't it

02:09:02 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 2:

usually the stereotype is that the woman wants to get married and the guy doesn't want to get married you know yeah and this is this is that the opposite of that but for reason of age i guess

02:09:12 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 1:

spencer's uh concerns are valid if he wants to be young for kids like all the reasons he lists it's perfectly fine for him to feel that way but i think he has to realize compromise and hear her concerns as well and realize she's not going she's not going anywhere she's she's not um leaving she's just in her mind she's on a different schedule for when the wedding part has to happen so it just comes to where they both have to talk about this and go is it really that important could it put a strain on the relationship to have to rush things spencer you bring up an interesting

02:09:47 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

point about you feel like you were lied to about her being all in was that something that came about before you guys moved in together was that like one of the big conversations of all in are you all in before

02:10:00 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 8:

we move in yeah absolutely she said she was all in like before we moved in and now here

02:10:07 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

she is you know but that's so subjective yeah maybe it's all in for just the being in the

02:10:13 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 3:

relationship what is her definition of all in versus yours chrissy breakup or makeup your

02:10:17 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 6:

comment um i think she needs to suck it up if she loves him and makeup um he seems like a really great guy and he's thinking about you know the future and thinking about things that right now guys our age at 23 don't think about you know so i grew up with older parents and i know the toll that it takes on children so he has the right idea really so you're actually siding with

02:10:44 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 2:

spencer on this melissa breakup or makeup um i'm siding with spencer as well and i think he should

02:10:50 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 5:

break up because honestly i feel like men know pretty fastly if they want to marry a woman or not and the thing is is that she agreed to move in with him so that's kind of giving the implication that she has that same goal in mind where she's headed for i mean even like he said just engagement some people have long engagements the thing is is that she moved in with him and again six months is not uncommon if you really think about it especially for men men typically know fairly

02:11:16 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

quickly if they want to marry a woman i guess my question is just like you know she said a year

02:11:22 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 2:

would be okay so why not just wait six months wait another six months before you before popping

02:11:27 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 9:

the question to her right chalk breakup or makeup uh breakup he sounds like a mama's boy and this is coming from somebody who did the same thing and i'm 55 now so what do you mean what'd you do oh i try to get engaged really early too and it didn't work so when you say it didn't work did you scare her off or what happened a little bit yeah so but it worked out in the end but still

02:11:51 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 2:

put on the brakes dude come on wow question for uh spencer on this one if she were to say no i'm not ready right now are you okay with still just dating and waiting or do you ever look at the idea of breaking up like the first two callers said that you should do i mean i guess that's kind of

02:12:11 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 8:

what made me call you in the first place i'm kind of torn but i i do want to like move on like i want to move forward um but move on meaning move out or or break up yeah kind of maybe

02:12:26 - 02:12:34 | Speaker 3:

wow but that comment to me right there just shows that like the lack of dedication to the

02:12:34 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 2:

relationship how does that make you feel when you hear that giana i don't i mean like i don't

02:12:40 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 4:

understand how because i i after six months me not wanting to get engaged immediately is enough for you to want to break up. I mean, if you leave this relationship, you're going to have to start another one with someone else, and that's just going to be further down the road that you'll be able to get married.

02:12:57 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 2:

Boy, that's a good negotiation right there. That's really good. Angel, comment? Break up or make up?

02:13:04 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 7:

I think they should break up because it seems like all she wants to do is she wants to play house with him, but she's not willing to actually put in to be the wife. She just wants to play white.

02:13:18 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 3:

Now, see, I'm going to disagree with you here. If that's the case, then it sounds to me like all Spencer wants to do is get married, but he doesn't care who he's getting married to.

02:13:27 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I had a pastor.

02:13:29 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

He already said that he wanted to get married. Did you just hear his last comment?

02:13:33 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:13:34 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 3:

He'd rather get rid of her and find somebody who just wants to get married right away.

02:13:37 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that does sound like that. I had a pastor one time that said that about playing house. That was actually during one of his sermons. He was basically saying that too many people are playing house and not enough people are playing commitment. And listen, I think that it would be smart to figure out exactly who that person is that you're dating before you end up making the commitment of marriage. But there are some people that sometimes look at the comfortability of just living together and say, this is something I'd rather just do.

02:14:06 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 1:

You're either committed or you're not. I don't think a piece of paper and a legal document or a ring make a change on that.

02:14:12 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Keenan? Kenan. Kenan. Oh, Kenan, you've called before.

02:14:17 - 02:14:18 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, I've called before.

02:14:18 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 2:

And I screwed up that name every time you've called.

02:14:20 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 10:

I know it happens. But I can't believe all these callers. I'm giving this 23-year-old lady a lot of credit. There's way too many divorces. So this guy's got a woman that he supposedly loves, and she's stepped up to moving in with him. he's got the semblance of a marriage and he gets the benefit of not being in the marriage so that if something were to happen but he's got the ability to see how things go so i was thinking you know makeup and and he's got to realize he's got a great gal who he gets to live with he gets to live the life with and then when everything is perfect they can officiate

02:15:00 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 4:

it and have a happy ever after without the fear i loved her now i'm thinking i'm thinking she needs

02:15:05 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 1:

to get rid of him because yeah smarter than he is no offense i loved what she said to him of you're going to break up with me and then you're going to be looking for somebody else that's going to take you that much longer i mean i think these guys definitely need to go talk to somebody

02:15:19 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 4:

more therapeutic than us but sean what's up hey mojo hey guys everyone love you guys um so yeah I'm in the same boat. I met my wife when she was 23 and I was 34. We're 11 years apart. I'm now 42. We've been together eight years, married five. He needs to just wait. He needs to just wait. If he loves her, it'll happen when I have to. I have a four-year-old. I was in the same boat. I wanted to get married when I was 30. Guess what? I did. Got divorced after 13 months. Now I'm married again. Love of my life. Kids are going to be there whether we're old or young. You get to enjoy it while you do. He just needs to wait if he loves her.

02:16:00 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 1:

Good advice. Thank you. I appreciate it.

02:16:02 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you. I seem to understand. I mean, we're not dying. We're not 60. You know, people are living longer. We're both healthy. I don't want to rush this.

02:16:19 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 1:

Spencer, you kind of heard from the listeners on this one here. I wish you luck because I think some of the comments that you made here might come back and bite you in the ass but I also know what your thoughts are that you really want to get married and I think you got to weigh out all the options are you willing to lose something that might be great because of a few months

02:16:39 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 3:

I mean I think there was a lot of good perspectives here I think I just need to sit on it for a little bit and kind of see what happens somebody mentioned six months I mean I I kind of see what happens in six months.

02:16:56 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 1:

All right, breakup or makeup. If you are going through a problem in your relationship, we want you to be on next week's Breakup or Makeup. Text BREAKUP or MAKEUP to 95500. Mojo in the Morning Show. I hate when my wife is right. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it. And she's right again. She always would tell me with the kids, they see your habits and they're going to lead by your example. Son of a bitch! Why does she have to be right all the time? So I was on the phone with Joe, my son Joe from the Joe Show, which by the way, he was on Good Morning America yesterday. Wasn't that nice? They did a pie eating contest. He met Gio Benitez. And I was like so excited about that. For some reason, I'm a TV nerd. And I love all the people that are on TV. And I was like, oh, I love Gio Benitez. He has like, dad, who's Gio Benitez? Now he's friends with him. Now they actually call each other and talk to each other. Um, so I was on the phone with Joe and we're having a conversation and while we're talking on the phone, I can always tell when the people I'm talking to aren't interested in my conversations. And it usually goes something like this. You're talking and all of a sudden you hear so what else is new so what else are you up to so what else are you doing so like they do that they don't just sit there and just there's no engagement and i go son of a gun this guy's using my lines because i do that all the time oh my god you do and chelsea said to me when the kids were younger your kids see you on the phone all the time and not being you know engaged in the the current moment they're going to do the same thing when they're older and joe's doing this so listen to what i did i'm a smart guy though i i'm talking to him and i can tell that he was doing something else and i said are you doing something else you want me to call you back later no no dad no no i'm good i'm good i'm good and and i said are you sure he goes no no no so i hung up my phone and then i quickly hit facetime on my phone genius and when i hit facetime on the uh on the phone to call back he picks up the phone not realizing that it was now FaceTime and not, you know, a phone call. And the phone was just sitting on his little coffee table as, what is my son Joe doing there

02:19:21 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 2:

in that picture? Oh, he's playing some video games. Yes!

02:19:24 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 1:

He's got his Zumba pants or something on. Are those Zumba pants that he's wearing? What are those pants? What are those

02:19:30 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 2:

workout pants? You just did a close-up of his crotch. I have no idea.

02:19:34 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

He's like all comfy and stuff. He's got his headset on. He's got his controller in front. Not doing anything. He was playing, I don't even know what he was playing what's the latest thing that's out right now Call of Duty oh yeah he's been talking about that Call of Duty so he's got Call of Duty going and I'm going this guy's got me beat at my own game and Chelsea is right on this whole deal I want to ask this question

02:20:00 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 3:

want to ask the listeners what did you bust someone doing while you were on the phone with them what were they doing while you were on the phone with them because I busted Joe playing video games when he was supposed to be just having a conversation with his dad getting some you know knowledge from his from his pops and uh and then lying to me on that I want to know have you ever busted someone on the phone doing something that they shouldn't have been doing or maybe they were doing something that they weren't telling you that they were doing?

02:20:29 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 4:

Mike, what's the Mojo line? Because when I'm on with Mojo, I get a, that's funny. That's funny.

02:20:34 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 5:

No, it was so what else is going on. But that's funny is another one. What else is going on?

02:20:40 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 2:

It'll get silent. Like you'll say something and you're expecting a response. Like you're expecting like a laugh or like even like anything back. And I'll go, hmm, so what else is new? What else is new?

02:20:52 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 5:

Or he'll do this. It gets quiet. and he'll be like oh is that is that Lucy in the background like you notice something in the background like nothing having to do with what we were just talking about and then he'll go Lucy talk to Mojo

02:21:07 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 3:

he's more excited to talk to them

02:21:11 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 6:

than you you know what the worst is when you're FaceTiming with Mojo and then he just goes so show me what's around no I'm not going to show you you didn't follow the conversation and now you're going to comment on something in the background

02:21:24 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 3:

My ADD goes off, goes off in such a huge way. I will tell you that, Spike, I've gotten burned on the, that's funny. That's funny. Because somebody said something that wasn't necessarily funny and burned me on that.

02:21:38 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 4:

So my grandmother died. That's funny. So what else is going on?

02:21:43 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 5:

I was at Target last night. I know you guys are shocked. And the lady, there was a lady in the store who I kind of just like found myself following her. We were on the same path to get the same things apparently. And she had somebody on FaceTime the entire time she grocery shopped. Actually, she checked out in the self-checkout in front of me and she propped her phone up. She actually went. She was at Starbucks in the Target with me as well and still had the person on the phone the entire time. That's absolutely fine.

02:22:10 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 6:

Some of us don't like being alone in public. I think that's what it was.

02:22:14 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 3:

844 Mojo Live or text is 95500. I love this text that just came in here. 734 says, I catch my mom always going to the bathroom. While we're talking on the phone You can hear the echo going Another one here I catch my husband eating all the time When he's on his way home To eat dinner Remember when Chelsea Would inspect my car That I had to stop off at the gas station By my house to throw away my wrappers Beforehand I'm not as bad anymore On that And she doesn't care anymore She's like whatever If you want to eat, eat beforehand, eat beforehand. Oh, has anybody ever done this? Any of our listeners ever been on the phone with somebody and they were having sex? People that pick up the phone while they're having sex?

02:23:05 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 5:

I pushed out a baby while I was on the phone with two people in this room.

02:23:09 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Although you wouldn't let us listen the entire time.

02:23:12 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 5:

Actually, that's not true. I wasn't actually pushing out the baby. I was getting my epidural.

02:23:14 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 4:

If you loved the show, you would have done it live.

02:23:18 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 3:

Andrew, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:23:20 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, when I get someone who's just, you know, constantly talking and talking, I'm not that interested. Me and my friends, we always just sit there and say, oh, yeah, that's crazy.

02:23:29 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 2:

If you get more than one, oh, that's crazy, you know they're not listening.

02:23:36 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 1:

Exactly. That's crazy.

02:23:37 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:23:38 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's what I think. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking. Isn't that a thing? Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6.

02:23:52 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is a chance for you to win some prizes. We've got good ones to give away all the time. If you ever want to be on 6 on Sex, this is where we bring you on the phone with us. We ask you six questions about your sex life while a parent is listening in. And Caitlin's going to try this today. Caitlin, how old are you?

02:24:14 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

19.

02:24:15 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 3:

What's your relationship like with your dad?

02:24:18 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 2:

Recently, we've been really close.

02:24:20 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, geez. So recently. So there was obviously a time where you weren't so close.

02:24:25 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. You know, hit the pre-TTA years and, you know. Are you sure? Out of your mind.

02:24:32 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 3:

And you want to go back to, do you want to do six on sex?

02:24:35 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 6:

Yes. And I'm going over to his house later.

02:24:41 - 02:24:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Well, let's ask him his relationship with you to make sure that he still loves you at the end of this whole thing. Here we go. We have Caitlin's dad on the phone. His name is Nick. And, Nick, are you okay with your voice on the radio?

02:24:57 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:24:57 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Nick. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:25:00 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 1:

Hello, how you doing? Fantastic. Nick, your daughter was just talking about your guys' very close and fun relationship that you have with each other, that you guys get along very well, I understand. Yeah. Well, we have a contest that she wants to play to try to win some concert tickets. And, Caitlin, can you tell your dad the name of the contest? Sex on Six. Sex on Six. No, Six on Sex, Dad. Six on Sex. Although sex on 6th is actually not a bad thing If there's some cool things on 6th Avenue That you can go have sex with It's on how you look at it Who's on top and who's on bottom Dad, the contest is 6 on sex We're going to ask Caitlin Six questions about her sex life You will be on the phone listening to them And if at any point it becomes too difficult For you to hear You can actually hang up the phone but if you do, she loses the concert tickets.

02:25:58 - 02:25:59 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:26:00 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 1:

Would you like to participate?

02:26:02 - 02:26:03 | Unknown:

Sure.

02:26:04 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 1:

Caitlin, would you like your dad to participate?

02:26:07 - 02:26:07 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:26:08 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 1:

Here we go. Question number one in Six on Sex. Caitlin, how old were you when you lost your virginity? I was 14. Oh, wow. Whoa. Lordy, lordy. Lordy, lordy. Oh, my God. Dad, how old were you when you lost your virginity, if you don't mind me asking?

02:26:29 - 02:26:30 | Unknown:

20.

02:26:30 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was going to say. To her mom. To her, wow. And is that when she conceived at that time? Yep. Oh, my gosh. Caitlin, question number two in Six on Sex. Have you ever sent naked pics or video? I have. Oh, really? Do you ever worry about them getting, you know, seen by other people? Oh, well, I've had an incident where I accidentally posted it public to my snap story. Oh, my God. Whoa. And what was it that you were taking? It was just a whole bunch of random news I was sending. Who were you sending them to? Or who were they intended for? They were intended for my boyfriend. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Question number three in Six on Sex. Where is the worst place in your home or dad's home that you have had sex? What furniture? Oh, all the furniture. Oh, my God, all the furniture. You should probably ask her, what hasn't she done now? Have you ever had sex in your dad's bed? Oh, no. I don't live with him. No. Well, thank goodness. That's the one thing. Thank God. Thank God. Yeah, exactly. But all the furniture. Anytime that you're sitting on a couch or a kitchen. I want to change the furniture. Yeah. Kitchen table? Yep. Jeez. And we know that there's no way that a 19-year-old girl is cleaning the kitchen table off. No. Question number four in Six on Sex. Caitlin, is there anyone that you've had sex with that you know would upset your dad? Yes, Amber, one of my girlfriends. Oh, my God. Amber? Whoa. Wait, who's Amber? Oh, one of my girlfriends. One of your friends. Oh, my God. Dad's going to make you look differently at Amber next time you see her. Right. Question number five, where's the most public place that you have ever had sex? In my old school. In your old school? Yeah. Where did you go for this private moment? Oh, there was in the bathroom and other places. Wait, so you had sex with your boyfriend in your old school classrooms? Yeah. How do you not get caught? You never worried about the teacher forgetting something in class and coming back for it?

02:29:34 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Were you ever interrupted? Almost. Wow. Oh, my God. Dad, we'll have to find out how parent-teacher conferences went with Caitlin when she was in school. question number six and six on sex i'm going to turn the tables on your dad i'm going to ask this question caitlin have you ever found any of your

02:30:00 - 02:30:01 | Speaker 6:

Parents, toys.

02:30:02 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 2:

My mom.

02:30:04 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, well, thank God. Right, Dad? It's not yours, right? Right. What did you find? I found a purple... Oh. Oh, my God. Okay. Wow.

02:30:19 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 1:

What?

02:30:21 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 6:

Holy cow.

02:30:23 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:30:24 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 6:

Dad, you got a good relationship with Caitlin's mom?

02:30:28 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 1:

It's all right.

02:30:30 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 6:

It's not as good as that purple and clear toy. That has been Six on Sex today. Six on Sex, everybody. Yeah, we can clap for that best. Thank you. Dad, any last words?

02:30:47 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 4:

Nope, I'll see you tonight.

02:30:50 - 02:30:54 | Speaker 6:

Where are we meeting? Are we meeting at home or at a restaurant somewhere?

02:30:55 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 2:

At his house.

02:30:55 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 5:

She's coming to the house.

02:30:56 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 6:

For dinner? just to talk about the future yeah man i think we should have waited to do this till tomorrow mojo in the morning six on sex mojo in the morning's dirty on the 30 shannon with the dirty on the 30 right now if you haven't heard what happened to jay leno

02:31:25 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 3:

over the weekend. He is in a burn center this morning after suffering a serious injury to his

02:31:31 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 1:

face. He was taken to the burn ward at Grossman Burns Center, and he's still in the hospital. He said in a statement, though, that he will need a week or two to recover. Wishing him all the best. It's really scary. Canceled all of

02:32:00 - 02:32:21 | Speaker 3:

his engagements, obviously, for the next week or two. Yesterday, actress Christina Applegate was honored with something she's wanted since she said she was five years old, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And it was really big for her and very emotional for her because it was her first public appearance since revealing how MS has just devastated her mobility. Oh, by the way,

02:32:21 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 2:

I have a disease. Anyway, did you not notice? Anywho, I've had a really interesting life. The life started as being a little girl waiting in line to see the first Star Wars on this very street at that very theater and looking at these things going, who are these people? What did they do? Did they do something right? Did they do something wrong? Whatever it is, I want one. I effing want one. And I was five years old. So this day means more to me than you could possibly imagine.

02:32:49 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 3:

All I could think of was, I want a golden ticket now. She was joined by her Dead to Me co-star, Linda Cardellini, as well as Katie Sagal and David Faustino from her Married with Children days back in the day.

02:33:00 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 6:

Is it Katie Sagal or Seagal?

02:33:02 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it is Seagal. You're right. I think it's Seagal. Seagal? Seagal? Seagal? Seagal? That girl with the big red hair?

02:33:08 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 6:

She was great on Married with Children. I'm sorry.

02:33:10 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 3:

I totally said that wrong.

02:33:12 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 6:

You know what? She's like been, even after Married with Children, has done so much character acting work that's unbelievable.

02:33:19 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:33:19 - 02:33:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:33:20 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 3:

Let's see Post Malone and Sway Lee's Sunflower A song we've played a ton on this radio station Has become the highest charting single in history It was just certified 17 times platinum this week Surpassing Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' Old Town Road

02:33:39 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 5:

I think that's pretty damn cool And I wanted to say thank you to Sway Lee And I'm so honored to be able to have done a song with him And we got some more on the way some special stuff and 17 times platinum is insane and i wanted to say thank you to everybody

02:33:55 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 3:

who's listening for everything he said it really is one of his favorite songs to perform it just

02:34:00 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 5:

it's so cool to see it impact so many people in so many different ways and whenever you're happy it makes you a little happier whenever you're sad it kind of brings you out of that mood it's just

02:34:11 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 6:

just a map i think it's a magical song that's wild i never would have thought that i mean I mean, it's a good song, but how is this song the most played? Does that mean it's most played?

02:34:20 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 4:

I feel like we did play it for like two years straight every hour. Like, it was one of those songs that just had no burn. Nobody got sick of it. Yeah. Still love hearing it.

02:34:27 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This was the question that both contestants got wrong in our 5 at 6.55 earlier this morning. The house from the movie A Christmas Story is up for sale in the city of Cleveland, Ohio. That was the answer. You're going to get the house, the gift shop, the museum, and then a whole bunch of vacant lots. I think there's also one other property that comes with it that have been acquired by the home's current owner over the years. It'll cost you. Now, the exact price of the property hasn't been officially announced, but the listing agents expect the number to be in the eight.

02:35:01 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 2:

Any thoughts that maybe they're trying to shake it off and sell it before the horrible sequel muddies the good name of that great movie?

02:35:09 - 02:35:16 | Speaker 4:

The 17th, got two more days, HBO Max, the sequel comes out. Hasn't that guy had that property for like 20 or 30 years or something?

02:35:16 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if it's the same owner, but the original owner used to bitch all the time, hated when people would be in front taking pictures of the house.

02:35:23 - 02:35:30 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm talking about the guy who has a museum now. He turned it into a museum. He's had it for quite a while. And I have to imagine he's probably just getting old

02:35:30 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 2:

It's possible

02:35:32 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 4:

Wants to unload it and make some money And lastly Country singer actress Jenna Kramer said that she dated Sexiest Man Alive Chris Evans over a decade ago But she blew her chance with him After an embarrassing bathroom Situation

02:35:47 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 3:

So I went to his place in Studio City It was going to be a sleepover I had asparagus Oh no For dinner that night So I went to the bathroom, and he immediately went after me. That's the last interaction that I remember is him going into the bathroom after I just went to the bathroom with asparagus pee and never hearing from him again. And then in the morning, I was just like, I mean, I did like the asparagus walk of shame out of his ass.

02:36:16 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. The crime in your house. So, is this your house or Spike?

02:36:44 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 2:

No, this is my neighbor. I was talking to my neighbor and we were sharing, you know, like we just getting to know each other. And I was telling him how I Googled the heck out of that address. I said, oh, don't worry. I Googled everybody. Before I moved in, I wanted to make sure I liked everybody and that there wasn't anything crazy going on. I was also trying to figure out what happened to the owners. Why did they completely remodel this home and then leave it right away? And he said, oh, I Googled my house. Do you know what happened to my house? I said, no. he said oh yeah a couple was murdered in my house and i said what and he said a woman came home a day early from up north found her husband in bed with one of her co-workers she killed her husband with a sledgehammer good for her well i thought i know i thought for sure he was messing with me to see if i'd believe him because i just told him how he googled my house so he went up and googled it story popped right up it was in the news and i was like oh my gosh so the house that is there That is by your house Right next door

02:37:42 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 4:

To the left of yours or right of yours

02:37:44 - 02:37:56 | Speaker 2:

When you're looking at my house it's to the left And I was like That's kind of wild that you Were okay with buying a house He's like oh yeah I got a good deal on that house And I thought yeah I don't know

02:37:56 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 4:

If I knew I couldn't do it

02:37:57 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 2:

If it was a murder I don't know if I could Because I'd be afraid it's haunted Deaths I know people die all the time I would say that that house has never been cleaner

02:38:06 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 1:

Because think about the crew that came in And they called Belfort and they were out there cleaning that sucker up.

02:38:13 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Well, I thought I could bring it up on the air and ask, what did you discover about your house by Googling it? Or what did you find out about, you know, maybe about your neighbors by Googling it?

02:38:21 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 4:

I know that people, when I first moved into my house, like six or seven years ago now, and I would tell people in the neighborhood which house I lived in, they would be like, oh, that's Jennifer's old house. That's Jennifer's old house. Yeah, everybody knew Jennifer. That's Jennifer's old house. jennifer as well and finally somebody told me that there there's one room on the corner of my house it's a bedroom and it has like windows on both sides so if you're walking you can see right into that room and apparently jennifer used to just walk around naked all the time in that room

02:38:49 - 02:38:55 | Speaker 1:

so everybody knew jennifer get to know jennifer we love you jennifer where has jennifer moved to

02:38:55 - 02:39:00 | Speaker 2:

some things haven't changed because shannon never puts the blinds down in her but i don't walk in

02:39:00 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 1:

that room you know uh the house that we live in uh the lady was a part of a thing where she was arrested for damaging cars like she was uh she would go through vandal she was like a vandal and was vandalizing cars yeah so when we moved in good old terry next door was like she was crazy and then i'm realizing i think maybe she got driven crazy by terry

02:39:28 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 2:

and that was a problem but megan did you google like because you bought this was your first house purchase and then you already had known the neighborhood because you knew you know you grew up down the street but did you google your house before you bought it no and i just did

02:39:48 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

oh no and i'm pretty sure my old high school teacher used to own my house wow really list of the names and i'm pretty sure my

02:40:00 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 3:

old high school teacher. That was her first and last name. Yeah, that's weird. I think that's cool. I will say, I can say this now because it's old. My dad's house had a death in it, and if you Googled the address, it gave you a news story

02:40:13 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 1:

on what happened in the house. I want that so bad. Why?

02:40:18 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 3:

You don't want a haunted house. Then you got people hanging out with you. Yeah.

02:40:21 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 1:

A haunted house. I do. It's not haunted, and

02:40:23 - 02:40:28 | Speaker 3:

then you just feel sad when you learn about it. It's just kind of depressing.

02:40:29 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Cherise?

02:40:30 - 02:40:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:40:31 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 2:

What was the story behind the house that you're living in?

02:40:35 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 4:

So it's kind of funny because my aunt lives five houses down from the house that we purchased. And we purchased it from somebody who flipped it. They purchased it from the bank who owned it from the guy who died there. So the man died in our house, and he had been there for a long time. And during the time where he wasn't being discovered because he didn't have a family, the pipes underneath my living room floor had ruptured. So if you look up Zillow, the pictures from Zillow are crazy because it's all the hardwood floor splintered and kind of steepled in my living room. And so we think the house is haunted. My husband won't let me ask the neighbors to see what happened or where he was found at because he doesn't want to know. And if I know, I know I'm going to tell him.

02:41:27 - 02:41:30 | Speaker 2:

Would you move out if you found out that it was?

02:41:31 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 4:

No. No, not at all.

02:41:32 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 2:

Would you be good with it?

02:41:33 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 4:

I know that he passed away there, but it was really funny because nobody told us until my uncle told us.

02:41:40 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah.

02:41:41 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 2:

That's pretty crazy. I would just, for you, just go ask them and just don't tell your husband.

02:41:49 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't have that much self-control.

02:41:52 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 5:

She knows her limits.

02:41:53 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 2:

um 844 mojo live or text 95500 couple text messages here 810 the former owner of our house uh killed herself in the house and we feel like she's there all the time in the room where she did it uh another person uh here said that uh the house that they lived in also like yours uh neighbors spike 20 years ago the guy uh caught his wife cheating same situation she survived though when he was trying to do it so they have the they worry about the bad karma in there what's up

I was like five or six I lived in Wyandotte And this neighbor We were first starting to get close to them After six months of living there or whatever And the neighbors tell us that the previous owners that have up there before us actually took their life in the basement of the house. Oh, geez. And freaky stuff is, like, always going on. What kind of freaky stuff? Give us an example. This sounds crazy, but, like, the cabinet door is literally just used to open and close.

02:43:56 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

02:43:56 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 1:

Yes. New? Yes, yes, yes. Can Mike come over just to hang out? Please.

02:44:03 - 02:44:03 | Unknown:

No.

02:44:04 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 2:

No. Is it because you don't want him there? Period. Yes.

02:44:12 - 02:44:20 | Speaker 1:

So it has nothing to do with the haunt. It has to do with Mike. She has a haunted house that scares the hell out of her, but the thought of me coming over to sit there for five minutes.

02:44:21 - 02:44:52 | Speaker 2:

Changes it. We have them for you every morning this week at 7.50. So do us a favor. Listen earlier to the show so that you can win the tickets to go to see Taylor Swift. But only the live listeners get a chance to go see her before anybody else. So please make it a point tomorrow morning to wake up and be listening live at 7.50 for a chance to win.

02:44:53 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 1:

Things I hate. Sunburns. Manual labor. And hairy lips. Things I love. these questions on another senseless survey on mojo it has only happened a couple of times on

02:45:06 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 3:

the show so it's a rarity it has tried to happen many many times but he has been too smart for our game to be able to pick up when we were trying to scam spike it's very difficult to do this um he's very smart at knowing when our little shenanigans are about to come into play with him well this This morning, we were able to accomplish a very rare thing on our show, and that is to be able to scam the scammer.

02:45:36 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 1:

Only the third time in 23 years you've been successful. Is that unbelievable? Give it up for all of us. I know. Give it up for us.

02:45:41 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 3:

That was good. Us are good. Us are good. Us are good. So earlier this morning, we scammed Spike. If you missed it, I know you're going to want to hear it. If you heard it, I guarantee you you're going to want to hear it again because the response has been so great, And it all revolves around our Mojo in the Morning Channel 955 Jingle Ball, December the 6th, starring every artist that you know in the world, but especially this particular artist. Take a listen. Man, I will tell you this, that Jingle Ball is going to be so much fun. There are so many artists that are going to be there. Yesterday, actually, Spike, you got an opportunity to talk to one of the artists that is going to be at the Jingle Ball?

02:46:20 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. In fact, I'm going to prepare. I have to go through and bleep some of it because it was quite the interesting interview. I never knew much about Nicky Yor, who's one of the acts on Jingle Ball. He is a filthy foul mouth. Well, he was totally high when we were talking. And admittedly, he was it was hilarious. He had just come in the night before from or that morning from a party. and he was telling me about two celebrities that put his toes in their mouth. And when I tell you, this is the funniest story you've ever heard, but he's at that era now because he had the big song of summer, Sunroof, that everybody's inviting him to his parties. So this was the biggest song of summers. It outpaced Harry Styles and Post Malone and a lot of other artists. So everybody's been inviting him to all the Hollywood parties now that he's in L.A. and he was telling me the funniest story about being in the pool, and Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox swam up to him at the pool and started talking to him, and next thing you know, I think the conversation— Are there swear words in the thing? I didn't hear it. Actually, you know what? I think I bleeped the one swear word. Okay.

02:47:34 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 3:

Can I play some of it?

02:47:34 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

02:47:35 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 3:

All right, let's play some of it. So this is Nicky—

02:47:37 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 1:

Total stoner surfer dude. I have no idea when you look at his clean-cut picture.

02:47:40 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because I know nothing about Nicky Yor. If I passed Nicky Yor in the hallway, I probably wouldn't know it was Nicky Yor. I would have no clue, but hold on one second here.

02:47:50 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 1:

Hello, Mojo in the morning. Hey, it's Nicky Orr. Hey, Nicky, it's Spike. How are you? Hey, good, man. How are you doing? Good, the one and only. Congratulations. It's nice to have you on the show this morning.

02:48:01 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I'm not going to lie. I'm not like a morning radio person because I'm usually tired as hell.

02:48:07 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, I know why you're tired. It's been a little bit of a whirlwind. I mean, let me set the scene here. Sunroof entered the music charts in May, and I was doing the math. It was exactly six months ago, and it went viral on TikTok with over 7 million videos, making it, of course, the summer anthem. And then radio picked it up, and then we realized it was the song of summer. And then you're getting more than 250 million Spotify streams. No wonder you're tired. Whoa. At this point, you're like 23. You have a job in computer sales. How do you decide when to quit that job and chase the dream full time?

02:48:39 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I'm going to tell you something that's going to totally blow your mind. Like, the song that I made is, like, it's a total joke, you know? Like, dude, I'm talking about a sunroof, you know? Right. Originally, it was called, originally it was called Window. You know, I was like, I got my arm out the window. The wind is going to blow. Green light means no go. Red light means no no. Like, it was like a whole, I could change it. It was a total joke, and then I just put it out, you know? It's just, I'm not going to lie to you. I'm high right now. i gotta tell you something trippy i have an aunt here give her to ham tramek of course we have yeah dude i have an aunt that like is somewhere and she is like a meth head and in jail and really hold on can you if aunt bessie if you're listening contact your family because oh no

02:49:29 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 1:

what happened to you oh no she's down the hole we don't even know where she's at right now no i have no idea oh my god we're gonna put it out then it's aunt bessie okay Yeah. How tall is she? Does she have any known tattoos?

02:49:41 - 02:49:44 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know, man. She's like, you're tripping me out right now, bro.

02:49:44 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, we'll find her. Don't worry.

02:49:46 - 02:50:38 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I got to tell you something. I don't even know if I'm supposed to say this, but I was at a party last night. This is like, it's just the trip of my life, how it is now. I was at a party last night in L.A. Yeah. It was so cool. It was Travis Barker. was there nice gold bloom and um machine gun kelly and megan fox were there and we're all like i was sitting in a pool i was sitting on the edge of a pool just like my feet were dangling in the water and machine gun kelly and megan fox are in the pool and they come up and they like swam up to me and they're like we love your song and talk to me and then machine gun kelly goes megan put one of his toes in your mouth and she took my big toe and put it in my mouth and then she goes now I dare you and machine gun Kelly put my other big toe in his mouth and I'm sitting there. I got my toes in their mouth and I'm just like tripping out like, Oh my God, this ride is crazy.

02:50:39 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 1:

This is what happens when you hit number one. It's a whole new level of parties.

02:50:43 - 02:50:45 | Speaker 2:

If I come out there and let me put my toes in your mouth.

02:50:45 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it's on. We're going to do it on stage.

02:50:48 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I'll do it.

02:50:49 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 1:

But let me just make sure you clarify. Cause you might be hide, but did this really happen? Or you, you know, do you just have,

02:50:56 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 2:

let me tell you something. It was like, i've been going to some of the craziest things i never even thought would happen you know like

02:51:01 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 1:

it's sick bro who's been the one person like as your song blew up and you're like holy hell i can't believe i'm in a room with blank like who's the person you're like holy they know who i am

02:51:11 - 02:51:27 | Speaker 2:

dude i was in a room no joke you know a guy i don't even like really know him because he's a little older but his name is gary bucey oh yeah oh yeah he's a hot mess yeah i was in a room with him and like we were like comparing teeth dude he's got really big teeth yeah he's famous for

02:51:27 - 02:51:39 | Speaker 1:

his big caps like obviously he was in a bunch of movies in the 80s and stuff but the most important question did gary bucey put your toe in his mouth no no he didn't do that but i tell you it was so

02:51:39 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 2:

funny he is like a spitter when he talks like yeah like and like i told him that i said dude you're spitting and he just hucked a lube right at me it was so dude he's such a trip bro you're

02:51:51 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 1:

making me wonder if i really want to go to a hollywood party or not it sounds like oh dude you have no idea bro you wrote a song called sunroof we're broadcasting the motor city right have you been approached by any of the auto companies yet to use your song in a car commercial dude no wait because if sunroof is in a commercial you're gonna make bank i'm sorry dude i just hit myself oh that hurt where did you hit yourself my stomach did i got like i had beef jerky and

02:52:20 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 2:

beer earlier. My stomach is killing me.

02:52:22 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. You need to pause and hit a pooper real quick? No, it's okay. Well, we're excited to see you come to the Jingle Ball. We're excited to see you on stage, and I'm wondering what's the vibe going to be?

02:52:32 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 2:

You know, magic is there, you know.

02:52:34 - 02:52:38 | Speaker 1:

Are you thinking you're going to do, like, a Christmas song or a cover song? What are you going to do?

02:52:38 - 02:52:42 | Speaker 2:

A little sing-alongs? Let's do a Christmas song together, a duet. Okay.

02:52:42 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 1:

What do you want to hit? Here, I'll do.

02:52:44 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 2:

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Now your turn.

02:52:47 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 1:

Jack Frost nipping at your nose.

02:52:51 - 02:52:56 | Speaker 2:

Spike is a big old tractor driver.

02:52:57 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 1:

And Megan Fox toes are in your mouth. That's a hit. I feel like we got something here. What? I need you to convince the Backstreet Boys fans that are coming to Jingle Ball to not take a bathroom break while you're on stage. They got to stay for your show. Go ahead. Tell them why.

02:53:13 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 2:

Dude, Backstreet Boys are on next You don't want to miss them But I'm on right now

02:53:23 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 1:

We worked on that a little bit So as we're saying goodbye here I'm going to bump into you backstage at Little Caesars Arena December 6th And I'm going to want to try and impress my girlfriend And make it seem like you and I are buds So do you have like an embarrassing nickname Or do you have something I can call you So I can fake it and pretend we go back

02:53:39 - 02:53:43 | Speaker 2:

You can just call me by my real last name Which is you're Like you're a dirtbag

02:53:43 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 1:

Ah, okay, that's the full one

02:53:45 - 02:53:52 | Speaker 2:

And then I'll see you and I'll be like, hey, you dirtbag And then you can leave me like, hey, what's up, bro And I'll just be like, why is your girl with you, bro?

02:53:53 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 1:

And she might want to put her toes in your mouth or something I don't know

02:53:56 - 02:53:57 | Speaker 2:

Dude, you are sick, bro

02:53:57 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 1:

And then I'll go find Aunt Bessie Just to get back at you, I'll start dating Aunt Bessie and Hamtram

02:54:01 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Dude, that would be hot, bro What's pop?

02:54:05 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 1:

iHeartRadio, Channel 955 Jingle Ball Presented by Capital One Nikki Yore on stage Plus some other dudes, Backstreet Boys Khalid, the Kid Leroy, Macklemore, and maybe Aunt Bessie.

02:54:15 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, dude. That's going to be fun, bro.

02:54:17 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 1:

It will. We're looking forward to seeing you and looking forward to meeting you in person. All right. Keep it tight and puckered up, bro. Got you, Nicky Yor on Channel 955. Oh, my God. How much more do you love this guy now? Because when I saw his picture, like Mojo said, he looked like a puppy dog. He looks like a very clean cut. I was like, that dude's a pop star? How did he get through? Like, his name should be Chet. I don't know.

02:54:40 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 2:

This is after the show.

02:54:41 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

when did you do this interview he kept asking me to come back later can we hook up later so it wasn't until like 5.30 at night and it's because he went to this party and didn't wake up until like 3 in the afternoon LA time I gotta be honest with you I love this guy

02:55:00 - 02:55:09 | Speaker 4:

And I'm going to love him even more when he gets up on stage. And we actually get to hear from the real Nicky Yor. It's going to be so much fun.

02:55:09 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 3:

What do you mean?

02:55:11 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm sorry. That was not Nicky Yor.

02:55:15 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 3:

You dude seriously make me come back into a fake interview?

02:55:18 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 4:

That was our buddy Tingle from Chicago.

02:55:21 - 02:55:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I wonder.

02:55:24 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 4:

I was like, he's kind of being rude to Michigan. And you've been phone scammed, Spike. Okay.

02:55:34 - 02:55:35 | Speaker 3:

Now I know why.

02:55:40 - 02:55:51 | Speaker 1:

By the way, none of us knew. None of us knew except for Mojo until this morning. I came in and he was listening to it and I go, oh my God, is that seriously Nicky Yor? And he just burst out laughing.

02:55:51 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't going to tell anybody. You know why I should have suspected? Because Mojo immediately wanted to play it on the air. and I'm like, we did much bigger interviews last week than he did in the play.

02:56:03 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 4:

So can I let the listeners in on something? So just so they kind of, a little inside behind the curtain type stuff. So our boss has these interviews for breaking and entering or whatever it's called, jingle ball. Yeah. And so everybody's been doing interviews like KP, you did Tate McRae. I did AJR, you know, stuff like that. And everybody's going to do interviews. Well, Spike got Nikki Yor, And I said to Tony I go, do you think anybody knows what Nicky Yor sounds like Other than the song Sunroof And he goes, no And I go, what do you think about the idea Of us phone scamming Spike Because nobody really knows what Nicky Yor sounds like

02:56:41 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 3:

And behind the scenes, I was pissed Because the boss kept saying I really need you to come back to the station and do it And I'm going, dude, we're not going to play the interview Mojo didn't even play We've had big stars in the last month that we interviewed And we never aired Because we just, you know, I think listeners They don't care as much about their lives Like, we like hearing about listeners' lives.

02:56:58 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 4:

I kept hearing him talking. I'm like, man, he's talking his own song, and he's making fun of Michigan. Let me do another behind-the-curtain thing. So behind-the-curtain on this one more. When you do an interview with these guys, they go on and on and on. You edit it down so that radio-wise, it's quick and fun. Yeah. So I went back to listen to the interview, the full interview that you did, which was, like, 12 minutes long. Yeah. Can I play you cuts of the interview that did not make it?

02:57:22 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 3:

I could tell you one part that's hilarious. He's mad that I didn't know his music And he's like you never heard my albums And I'm thinking This is where I clocked in and said This dude's so high He does not have an album I did so much research And he's like no dude I got a bunch of albums back in 2017 And he starts naming and I'm like what You're high dude Like you're high I know your record label They're waiting for an album from you

02:57:50 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 4:

So our buddy Tingle does the interview And our buddy Tingle calls me right afterwards and goes dude you cannot let spike edit that interview and not hear some of the stuff that i said so we just scammed spike just a couple minutes ago it was not nikki yor it was our our friend in chicago that does morning radio there sherman and tingle tingle and here's some of the stuff that didn't make what you just heard so take a listen hold on hello mojo in the morning

02:58:15 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 3:

hey it's nikki yor hey nikki it's spike how are you by the way when you listen to that As soon as he called him, I'm like, this can't be the guy in the pictures. Hey, good, man. How are you doing? Good. The one and only. Congratulations. It's nice to have you on the show this morning.

02:58:33 - 02:58:38 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I'm not going to lie. I'm not like a morning radio person because I'm usually tired as hell.

02:58:38 - 02:59:02 | Speaker 3:

Right? Well, I know why you're tired. It's been a little bit of a whirlwind. I mean, let me set the scene here. Sunroof entered the music charts in May, and I was doing the math. It was exactly six months ago. And it went viral on TikTok with over 7 million videos Making it, of course, the summer anthem And then radio picked it up And then we realized it was the song of summer And then you're getting more than 250 million Spotify streams No wonder you're tired

02:59:02 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 2:

Dude, you're like the research king or something, man

02:59:06 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god So, okay, real quick, back to this What's your name again? Spike I'm Spike

02:59:11 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 2:

How'd you get that name, dude?

02:59:13 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 3:

I had stupid punk rock hair when I was 16 And it just stuck with me forever I didn't know it was going to stick with me forever.

02:59:19 - 02:59:22 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you a question, bro. Do you like Sunroof or no?

02:59:22 - 02:59:22 | Speaker 3:

I do.

02:59:24 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 2:

If you had to pick another song, what's your favorite?

02:59:26 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 3:

Another song off the radio right now? Oh, no, one of mine. Oh, so that's the thing. I was going to ask you because I haven't heard any of your other songs yet.

02:59:34 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 2:

Whoa.

02:59:35 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 3:

And I know you went in the recording studio. I'm sure they've been pushing me to get an album out there quick. So what are we going to see next? Are you going to obviously do some live music first, do some touring, and then get into the album, or you have an album ready to go?

02:59:49 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 2:

You honestly haven't heard any of the songs?

02:59:50 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 3:

No, no, they haven't hooked me up. You're telling me you have an album and they have not given it to me before this interview?

02:59:58 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 2:

Dude. Oh. I'm embarrassed for me and I'm embarrassed for this company that they didn't even do that for me That's all good, bro I'm going to put my toe in your mouth Yeah, but no, because I was even doing a little research on you before this interview and I was surprised to see that they haven't rushed out an album based on the success of the song this summer Dude, I have two albums out No, you don't You're lying to me I do My first one is 2017 Oh, okay It's called Tractor Boy Okay, so you mean like independent stuff Yeah Okay, so you could Is it easy to find? Tractor Boy 2 was in 2020. Okay, so Tractor Boy to Sunroof, I'm just believing that you just pop an edible and write about whatever comes to your mind. That's what I do, bro. Dude, I like you. You're funny. No, you're a blast. I love it. This is fun to have an unfiltered artist on who's not afraid to tell us what really goes on in Hollywood parties. Dude, whatever, bro. No, because there's a lot of artists that will come on, and they're so guarded we don't even want to do interviews. Whatever. But I'm going to get you a gig where you're in the car commercial because if Sunroof is in a commercial, you're going to make bank. You're going to make so much money. Let me tell you, Eminem did a Super Bowl commercial for Chrysler. He made so much money, he never called us again. I mean, we also had his ex-wife on the show talking about what was in his underpants, but I don't want to dredge up dirty details. I'm just saying my point is he's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame now, so we've got to get you some of that commercial money. I'm sorry. I just hit myself. oh that hurt where did you hit yourself my stomach did i like i had beef jerky and beer oh man you need to pause and hit a pooper real quick no it's okay okay cool cool i'm sorry what did you say well well i'm we're excited to see you come to the jingle ball dude you're cool bro what do you go by is it like stick but i'm sorry what'd you say again spike Sick. No, Spike. Spike. Yeah.

03:02:00 - 03:02:00 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:02:02 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I'm bad, bro. All right, so this is it. I Heart Radio, Channel 955 Jingle Ball, presented by Capital One. Nikki, you're on stage, plus some other dudes, Backstreet Boys, Khalid, The Kid Leroy, Macklemore, and maybe Aunt Fessy. You see? I didn't hear that. That's all the people that are going to be on the show with you. Oh, my God. Oh, dude, I didn't know where you were going with that. Yeah, yeah. I'm just wrapping it up and letting everybody know if they want to see you when you come to the D. You're sick, bro. All right. I don't know where you're going to be on the set. I don't know if you're opening. Would you imagine if he ran to him, if you never told him, and then he ran into him backstage? Oh, my God. I was trying so hard to keep this dude on track. Like, they really want me to do this interview for some reason. I got to make something out of it. Now I realize why, obviously, Tony knew the whole time. And then Tony said, hey, I need a copy of that, you know, because iHeart's keeping track of all these interviews we do. I need it the same day, which now I realize why, because Mojo wanted it.

03:03:04 - 03:03:07 | Speaker 1:

But I'm like, it's so hard to scam you. It really is.

03:03:07 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 2:

And I was thinking when he said, I really need a copy of that interview today, I'm thinking, oh, well, they're not going to let us play it. As soon as they as soon as the record label hears how high he was, they're not going to let us play this.

03:03:17 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 1:

How did you not text any of us yesterday and say, you guys, I just interviewed Nicky and he was zooted. I was just so pissed I had to come back.

03:03:28 - 03:03:32 | Speaker 2:

My girlfriend was cooking this big meal and I'm like, well, I don't get to eat here tonight. Sorry.

03:03:33 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

He did text me. We texted last night about it. He said he was super high and I'm like, oh my God, I want to hear it so bad. Yeah, dude, that's going to be fun, bro. Breaking and entering Christmas wish. Going to start granting wishes after Thanksgiving. A huge thank you to our friends from Clean View Auto. Frank came in this week. Clean View Auto Wash over on the east side of town. Frank Toma came in with his check. It was so nice of him to do that. Big check. Yes. Literally a big check monetarily and also a very big check. $20,000 donation to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. We're very happy that we get to have the Toma family be part of this. Also, our friends at the Imagine Theaters, thank you to those guys for their great donation. And Red Robin, we have a couple of things I want to get to. We're going to do trending real quick, but we are going to do a contest where you get to do an interview with the, or not an interview, but you get to do a meet and greet and hang out with the real artist. So it's not a fake artist, it's the real artist. It's Young Gravy. We're giving you an opportunity to be at Young Gravy Show with some VIP, let you in early, get to be part of, I don't know what they call them nowadays. They don't do meet and greets anymore. What do they call them?

03:05:00 - 03:05:01 | Speaker 2:

like first looks or something.

03:05:02 - 03:06:40 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what the hell it is called. The artist changed everything after COVID, but it's a contest that we're going to call Graham for gravy. So on Instagram, we are going to give you a shot to do this. We want you to show off your milf mom or grandma. So show them off on your Instagram tagging Graham for gravy. Make sure that you tag Mojo in the morning in it. And then if we share that, we're going to give you a chance to win. We've got two sets of winners that are going to win. So a total of four people that are going to be part of this. Young Gravy, I think, is here on Monday of next week at the Fillmore. So we'll tell you more about this on tomorrow's show. But if you want an early start at this, you know, the whole thing with Young Gravy is he loves older ladies. So if you've got, like, a hot older lady in your life, like a mom or grandma or whoever, and you want to have them be one of Young Gravy's ladies, you have a chance to do this and win those tickets. So Graham for Gravy, make sure that you tag us in it so that we can share it on our story at Mojo in the Morn. Mojo in the Morn's top trending stories. Top trending stories of the day. You know what that means? We're out of here. How great is that? We are done for today. Can you guys guess what state was voted the worst for potholes? Oh, it's got to be us. It's got to be Michigan. It is Michigan, Shannon.

03:06:40 - 03:06:52 | Speaker 2:

Fix the damn road. Yeah. I saw this news came through this morning. I was thinking it's not that bad, but they must be going on last year because it's not really pothole season yet. We get them in the spring after the winter.

03:06:52 - 03:07:30 | Speaker 1:

I feel like this past year, the tire shops like Bell Tire and Discount Tire have really made out. A new study shows that Michigan is the worst state when it comes to potholes. But Indiana, Rhode Island, and Washington State aren't far behind. According to Quote Wizard, they analyzed Google searches and statistics of fixing their tires in rankings. And they found that the freeze-thaw cycle happens in Michigan all the time, causing the roads to be hazardous. The average pothole repair bill was $306.

03:07:31 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they were so bad last spring. And that's what I was thinking, like, oh, they're not that bad. But I was thinking, oh, they're not talking about now. They're talking about last year. And coming up, too. Well, I had my daughter had two flat tires. It's always bad in the spring, yeah.

03:07:45 - 03:08:20 | Speaker 1:

Which delivery drivers are considered to be the most attractive? A study of 1,000 U.S. adults. Consumers think that their local delivery workers are quite attractive. In fact, 4 in 10 responded that they say that Amazon has the hottest delivery drivers working for them, followed by UPS and then FedEx as far as hotness scales are concerned. That's wild because UPS has always seemed to win this Because a lot of people think that they're down with the brown They love the

03:08:20 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 2:

Sexy shorts

03:08:21 - 03:09:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, those outfits that they wear What do you guys think as far as food delivery services? The hottest food delivery workers are Uber Eats drivers Which, that's not as big here Uber Eats is not huge here Do you guys ever do it? I've only ever done DoorDash Uber Eats never has drivers when I try to do it DoorDash, Postmates, Instacart, Grubhub, and then Shipt. I'm going to say this. I'm going to go on record, and I'm going to piss some people off. Because if you ever try to have Target delivered to your place, it's always Shipt. Shoppers, Shipt is the best. They are the most responsive out of all. Instacart's okay, but Shipt.

03:09:00 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 2:

Well, they're not saying best. They're saying most attractive.

03:09:02 - 03:09:04 | Speaker 1:

No, I know. But they're the best people.

03:09:04 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 2:

You know who's most attractive? Whoever gets my food to my house in less than an hour and actually doesn't stop at three other houses first.

03:09:11 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 1:

I have a feeling, though, and I don't know the facts in this, that ship must pay their people more than all the other delivery companies. Because whenever, and it's only Target that I do it with when I deliver, whenever they deliver with Target, they're so nice. And I wonder why they're so nice all the time. Maybe Target pays them more. Maybe it's like a fee thing. You never had Target? Well, it's because you live there. You should be a shipped shopper Because if you're a shipped shopper You could spend more time at Okay, question for you What aisle has the The appliances If you needed appliances

03:09:48 - 03:09:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, they're in the back of the store I mean, I don't know the actual aisle

03:09:51 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Is it? I thought the appliances are They just redid the Target by me I thought appliances is just past Like the coffee machines Coffee The...

03:10:00 - 03:10:04 | Speaker 3:

stuff, is just past the cards. Like when you walk in, you know how

03:10:04 - 03:10:09 | Speaker 5:

the cards are there? Oh, see, mine the cards used to be in the front, and they're not anymore. Now it's all the home stuff. They put the cards

03:10:09 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 3:

in the back of your Target? The cards are not

03:10:11 - 03:10:13 | Speaker 5:

in the front anymore. Oh, wow.

03:10:13 - 03:10:25 | Speaker 3:

They're like in the middle. I did not know that. All right, and last story here. Thanksgiving food face-off. Which one has to go? Green bean casserole or sweet potatoes?

03:10:26 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, green bean casserole, bye.

03:10:28 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 3:

Has to go? Yeah.

03:10:29 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 5:

You had to pick one? Sweet potatoes.

03:10:32 - 03:10:41 | Speaker 3:

In a poll of Thanksgiving foods, more Americans prefer mashed potatoes over stuffing and green bean casserole over sweet potatoes.

03:10:42 - 03:10:43 | Speaker 4:

What's wrong with those people?

03:10:43 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 3:

Here are some of the-

03:10:45 - 03:10:46 | Speaker 4:

Green beans shouldn't be in the top 10.

03:10:46 - 03:10:51 | Speaker 3:

I think green bean casserole, if it's done right, with the fried onion stuff on the top, it's so delicious.

03:10:51 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 4:

That's why the green beans are just a delivery system for the fried onions, the only part we like. Why do we not use the fried onions all year long? Put it on other things.

03:10:58 - 03:11:01 | Speaker 3:

All right, apple pie versus pecan pie.

03:11:04 - 03:11:04 | Speaker 4:

Apple.

03:11:05 - 03:11:11 | Speaker 3:

70% of people would give up pecan pie. Yeah. Brussels sprouts versus glazed carrots.

03:11:13 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 5:

Ooh. Wait, what was the first one?

03:11:16 - 03:11:18 | Speaker 3:

Brussels sprouts or glazed carrots? Glazed carrots.

03:11:18 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 5:

I like glazed carrots.

03:11:20 - 03:11:31 | Speaker 3:

59% of people said that they would drop Brussels sprouts. Oh, yeah. Gravy versus cranberry sauce. Oh, cranberry gravy. Gravy. 72% say they would drop cranberry sauce. Yeah.

03:11:32 - 03:11:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, if you have to choose the two, I think a lot of people are still cursed with the canned stuff. They don't make actual cranberry sauce from scratch. They do the canned.

03:11:40 - 03:11:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but the canned is better than from scratch.

03:11:45 - 03:11:50 | Speaker 3:

Here's one for you. Cornbread versus potato rolls.

03:11:50 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 5:

Cornbread all the way. I love cornbread.

03:11:52 - 03:11:53 | Speaker 4:

You've got to keep the cornbread.

03:11:53 - 03:12:00 | Speaker 3:

60% would give up cornbread because they like those Hawaiian potato type rolls. Oh, the King's Hawaiian rolls are amazing.

03:12:00 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, is that what you mean by potato rolls?

03:12:01 - 03:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I didn't think they were potato rolls.

03:12:03 - 03:12:06 | Speaker 3:

I keep those. I don't know. That's what I was assuming. Unless, okay, how about this?

03:12:06 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 4:

They call them Hawaiian rolls. They beat everything.

03:12:08 - 03:12:54 | Speaker 3:

Hawaiian rolls versus turkey. Which one do you eat more of? I do love turkey. It's funny. My family hates turkey so much, and Chelsea told me that because we're very nostalgic, We're hoping that maybe we can put our house up for sale When Luke goes away to college And so I'm like we have to have a turkey Because I want a turkey And I want it to look nice and take one last picture A family picture So the only way that they want turkey is for the picture They want it just for that And I said to them I love Thanksgiving turkey But they don't like it And I know that this is the case They won't eat any turkey on Thanksgiving They'll eat their honey baked ham But they'll make turkey sandwiches The next day So I'm like You got those You know Hawaiian rolls Make it during

03:12:54 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 5:

We had to adopt A turkey for my sister Because she won't eat it So we have a new Family member guys His name is Roberto

03:13:00 - 03:13:04 | Speaker 3:

So you get to You guys eat turkey At all or no?

03:13:04 - 03:13:05 | Speaker 5:

Well

03:13:05 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 3:

She doesn't know this yet

03:13:06 - 03:13:10 | Speaker 5:

But I did I did order a turkey I'm hosting Thanksgiving

03:13:10 - 03:13:14 | Speaker 3:

But will you not Take pictures of that And show Because she's going to be there She's going to be there She's going to be there

03:13:14 - 03:13:19 | Speaker 5:

But then we had to Adopt a turkey So we kind of Just like negated it One's staying One's going

03:13:19 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 4:

What do you think's happening to the turkey you adopt?

03:13:21 - 03:13:24 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. We keep getting little pictures of him, though. He's cute.

03:13:24 - 03:13:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

03:13:25 - 03:13:27 | Speaker 3:

What a scam.

03:13:27 - 03:13:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to do that, too. Get everybody to adopt. I'm going to have pictures of one turkey and send everybody. This is Manuel. This is Roberta.

03:13:33 - 03:13:40 | Speaker 5:

How much did it cost, Sam? I don't know. My sister Jacqueline got it for my sister Emily for her birthday this week. Oh, my God.

03:13:40 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 3:

Why are all your turkeys Hispanic turkeys?

03:13:42 - 03:13:44 | Speaker 5:
