00:04:12 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. uh megan uh was not drinking i don't believe when she accidentally did this this weekend and

00:04:23 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 1:

the listeners all saw it no i didn't i wasn't drinking this is so annoying so every night when i go to sleep i'm usually watching tiktok lives as i fall asleep i'm a huge fan of those live asmrs and so um it's not unusual for me to wake up to my phone being like super hot because it's been running all night with on the church i'm i'm going to die in a fire have you ever

00:04:47 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 4:

burned yourself don't say that have you ever woken up with like a red mark on yes in the shape of an

00:04:51 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 1:

iphone yes yes and i it's going to happen it is you know how people fall asleep with hair dryers on in their bed like i know this is a problem and i still do it

00:05:00 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 4:

and I wake up on Sunday morning it was Sunday morning and I have a really hot phone and I'm like oh okay time to turn off tic-tac like you've been sitting on live all night and I pick up my phone and I look at it and I am on live and I'm not watching a live I'm broadcasting a live I have no idea how because you have to press like four buttons in order for this to happen but I was on my own live with hundreds of people watching. Oh, yes. I have no idea if I've been snoring, if I've been talking, farting, if a boob is out. I have no idea what's going on. And I freak the hell out. Could you see how long you had been live? No, but I could see how many people were in there. And so I closed out of it and it said I had been live for 22 minutes, which was like a pretty significant amount of time and then i check all of my notifications to see all of the dms and text messages and everything you're live right now you're live right now i hope

00:06:06 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 3:

why are people dming you if you're freaking sleeping you're not gonna see it they don't

00:06:11 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 4:

have my number but they were hoping it would send off a ding on my phone to wake me up

00:06:15 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 3:

i don't have notifications on any of my social media but yeah i have no idea what happened and

00:06:23 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

And I sat up so quickly. You know that rush of adrenaline that hits you that ruined my night of sleep because you just sit up and you're like, and then you're like, well, I'm not going back to sleep. I'm actually exhausted right now. And this sucks. What did I do?

00:06:40 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

I am the ugliest sleeper. I would have just about died. I frown like this when I sleep.

00:06:48 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 4:

I talk. I talk in my sleep often.

00:06:50 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

00:06:51 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 4:

Did anybody say? I don't know. I don't want to know.

00:06:55 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

Did anybody say anything, like, in your DMs that you did?

00:06:59 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, there was a really, really nice woman who sent me a couple of DMs, and she was like, I was ready to fight anybody who said anything mean. And I was like, thanks. But, like, did I do anything for anything? She was like, not too bad. I was like, what does that mean?

00:07:16 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 2:

Namir, you were watching?

00:07:18 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was. I had literally just woken up. and i was just like laying in bed i was just uh flipping through my uh tiktok and then i see megan is live but then it's like a black screen i'm like what's going on so i click on it and then like okay nothing it's still black screen so i turn up the volume like i'm hearing somebody like literally breathing i'm like she's sleeping i think she's sleeping and then all of a sudden like i'm looking at the comments like everybody's saying the same thing like me everyone's saying She's sleeping, she's sleeping Let's talk to Lydia Let's talk to Casey Have someone call her You guys are overworking her This is so funny

00:07:57 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

Hold on in the mirror I'm going to add Sarah to this Sarah, you were watching And what did you catch?

00:08:04 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 1:

She definitely snores Isn't it nasty snores? Definitely I was waiting for a fart to flip through

00:08:11 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

But she was definitely snoring Oh, that was so deep funny Wait, Sarah, reenact it How bad was it?

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Unknown:

No!

00:08:20 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 4:

You lied! Okay, but how many gifts did you get? Did you make bank on this? Here's the most annoying part. I go live all the time. When I'm cooking, when I'm working around here, when I'm doing the podcast with Mike. I'm on TikTok Live all the time. I never made more money than when I did sleeping on TikTok. I saw my gifts and I was like, are you kidding me? I'm going to do this every night. Are you serious?

00:08:43 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

Has anybody ever accidentally gone live, like, during, you know, cookie time, baking, you know, baking cookie?

00:08:51 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Or bathroom.

00:08:51 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Or bathroom or, you know, done any of this. State, yeah. Or bad Zoom, you know, or something went off. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. Oh, my God, Megan, that is priceless. That is such a Megan thing to have happen. But you know what, though? Well, that is kind of like perfect. It's perfect timing, right? It wasn't like you fell asleep in the middle of the day.

00:09:18 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, but I sleep in these like bandeau type bras, right? And I wake up all the time with just like a boob out. And so I was like, that's my boob. I'm on TikTok for 20 minutes. I genuinely was like, oh my God, there's probably going to be photos of me naked on the internet, like just circulating.

00:09:39 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

If there are, please send us pictures, screenshots. No, no, don't.

00:09:43 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, that's an awful thing to say. What's up, Jay?

00:09:47 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

Jay, what's going on? Hey, how you doing? Good, Jay, we didn't see anything, did we?

00:09:52 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

No, we didn't see anything. I was just hoping she had called my name like, Hey, Jay, are you listening?

00:10:00 - 00:10:03 | Speaker 3:

Jay, how long did you watch?

00:10:04 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 2:

About three, almost four minutes. Okay. I watched long. But I didn't get it. She snores a little bit, but that's all right.

00:10:11 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 9:

But if there was a movie, you would have watched longer, Jay.

00:10:14 - 00:10:15 | Speaker 3:

Let me ask you a question.

00:10:15 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 2:

That's all right. My little 454 room.

00:10:19 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

If you were in a relationship with Megan, could you deal with that snoring? Or are you okay with that?

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 2:

We would snore together. That's all right.

00:10:28 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 6:

Love you.

00:10:28 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 3:

It's the best, Jay. What's up, Morgan? How you doing?

00:10:32 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. I want to make Megan feel a little less alone with this. I accidentally posted a video of me snoring on TikTok in my sleep. I have no idea how it happened, but I woke up and there's views of me just snoring for like who knows how long. It was really sexy.

00:10:55 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Vicky? Hi.

00:10:58 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 8:

Hey, good morning.

00:10:59 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 3:

Morning.

00:11:00 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 8:

So my daughter, I thought she was watching a show on my phone, and I'm cleaning the house. Like, I wake up, and I'm not very pretty in the morning, and I'm cleaning, and she has me on Instagram Live. And I don't know how long she did, but my mom had called my phone, and she's like, can you get off Instagram Live? You're embarrassing us. I'm like, why? She's like, you know, everything in my house. I mean, this girl was going through our whole house, doing everybody, everything. I was so embarrassed. It was so bad.

00:11:26 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's when you go, oh, my God, did I talk to my kids the way I normally talk to my kids?

00:11:31 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 8:

What did I say to my husband? What did I do?

00:11:34 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 3:

00:12:06 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 11:

Mojo's favorite movie and dream couple starred in this movie, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. The movie is A Star Is Born.

00:12:12 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 5:

The kernel of this movie was really just a love story, you know, and two people honestly in love with each other and what that means.

00:12:22 - 00:12:38 | Speaker 11:

And the big song, Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris, One Kiss. What year did it happen? 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:13:19 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 9:

I might have to talk a little deep, baby. No. Shannon, what's going on? Okay, so you were screaming last night, wherever you were. Where are you going to be screaming tonight for this Jake Paul, Mike Tyson fight? Are you watching?

00:13:32 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 11:

Hell yes.

00:13:33 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 9:

I think the entire world should be, especially after Mike Tyson slapped him at the way. Okay, yes. So if you missed this, during their last face-off before tonight's boxing match, which you can see on Netflix, by the way, Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul. I kind of am here for it because Yes Yeah

00:13:51 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 4:

He's angry He's an angry little elf Mike Tyson I thought that was a cute slap buddy But tomorrow you're gonna knock the f*** out I'm f***ing him up I'm f***ing him up He hits like a b***h It's personal now It's personal now He must die

00:14:07 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 9:

I cannot handle Jake Paul I'm sorry But tonight's match will be Mike Tyson's first professional boxing match in 19 years And for the record, Jake Paul said he didn't even feel the slap, and you heard it. He called it cute. It was a cute slap.

00:14:24 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 10:

Look at this. I'm going to show you a close-up. Look at this picture of his face.

00:14:28 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, I mean, he... He felt that. Yeah, for sure. For sure. Travis and Jason Kelsey's mom, Donna, Mama Kelsey, chatting with the Today Show about whether Taylor Swift will be joining their family for Thanksgiving.

00:14:40 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. Okay. She's kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do. That's true.

00:14:45 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 9:

A little bit, but the family will be together.

00:14:47 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 1:

I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. It's football's family.

00:14:55 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

So are they doing Thanksgiving a big dinner?

00:15:00 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Not that anything's planned. I think we're just going to be at the football game. And SZA is opening up about her BBL and admits she totally regrets doing it. She made that confession to British Vogue saying she gained a bunch of weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. I guess that's part of the process because you're supposed to sit still. But she said it was just so stupid. You got a BBL. You realize you didn't need that spit. It doesn't matter. Despite her regret, she also says she doesn't care. She is now more focused on getting her mental health together. That's her priority. And she says, you know, her booty does look nice and she enjoys shaking it. So she somewhat regrets it. Yeah, I've never heard of anybody saying they regretted it. That's interesting. I'm not saying I don't believe her. She's wrong, but that's why. For all of today's Dirty Ketchup on the podcast from all of the week's Dirties, by the way, on the free iHeartRadio app or MudgeInTheMorning.com.

00:15:59 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 2:

Go celebrity dirt directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55. Yo, 5 at 6.55.

00:16:19 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 1:

Go now. When Mojo's away, the rest of us play. An order. Oh, wait, we did that one. I was saying the 5 at 6.55, but yes, that too. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That too. Welcome back to Olivia, who is going for win number three this morning. Good morning. Happy Friday. Happy Friday. Yes. Let's meet your challenger today. Hi, Chris. Chris from Berkeley. Hey, good morning. Good morning. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

00:16:46 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 2:

I am a high school teacher at Rochester High School. I teach film and video studies, and we're doing our Ken drive this week. I know that's a shameless plug, but I'm hoping any students who are listening will bring in fans to the Rochester Community House in the next week.

00:17:01 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love that. That's your reminder if you go to Rochester High, okay? All right. You know how this works, I'm assuming, Chris. Five pop culture questions we've got for you. Whomever gets the most right wins. Ty goes to the champion. In this case, Olivia. And Chris, you're up first, okay?

00:17:18 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:17:18 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 1:

Olivia, we'll see you in a few. All right, Chris. Question number one. Sophia Ritchie Grange is being slammed on social media for revealing that her five-month-old daughter has her own cell phone. Who is Sophia's famous dad?

00:17:35 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 2:

Three seconds. Kanye West.

00:17:38 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 1:

Question two. I know that's wrong. Okay, question two. It is, but that's okay. You guessed. Ryan Reynolds confirmed that this music superstar is indeed the godmother to his three daughters. Who is she?

00:17:52 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 2:

Taylor Swift.

00:17:53 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 1:

Question three, it is Chad Kroger's birthday today. Which controversial band is he the front man of?

00:18:03 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that is, oh my God, the Canadian guys. I saw them at a concert years ago and students made fun of me.

00:18:11 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 1:

All right, question four, this member of the Today Show announced her replacement yesterday after announcing that she's going to be leaving the show in January. Who is she?

00:18:23 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 2:

Hoda.

00:18:23 - 00:18:38 | Speaker 1:

And question five, Teddy Mellencamp is in the middle of a cheating scandal following the news that she filed for divorce from her husband. What reality franchise is she from? You don't have to be specific. We're just looking for the franchise name.

00:18:39 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's the Housewives. Okay.

00:18:41 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 1:

Franchise. All right. Let's bring that. None of this comes from the dirty. I'm sorry. Some days you listen and I got you some days. Not today. Chris, you didn't do terrible, though. Not great. Not terrible. You got three out of five. Three out of five. That's respectable. That's respectable. All right, Olivia, are you ready? I'm ready. Okay, question one. Sophia Richie Grange is being slammed on social media for revealing that her five-month-old daughter has her own cell phone. Who is Sophia's famous dad?

00:19:11 - 00:19:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, um, my...

00:19:13 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Three seconds. Three, two... I don't know. No, you almost did. I thought you were going to say it. It's Lionel Richie. Yes. Yeah, zero, zero. Question two, Ryan Reynolds confirmed that this music superstar is indeed the godmother to his three daughters. Who is she? One to one. Question three, it is Chad Kroger's birthday today. Which controversial band is he the frontman of? Nickelback. Two to one. That's what you were looking for, Chris. Yeah. Question four, this member of the Today Show announced her replacement yesterday after announcing that she's going to be leaving the show in January. Who is she? I think you said it. Say it one more time. Hoda copy. There we go.

00:20:00 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 2:

Three to two. And question number five. Teddy Mellencamp is in the middle of a cheating scandal following the news that she filed for divorce from her husband. What reality franchise is she from? You don't have to be specific. Just looking for the franchise name.

00:20:15 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 1:

Who's it? Let's do the challenge.

00:20:20 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Olivia. No, it's actually Real Housewives.

00:20:23 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 1:

You got lucky, though, Olivia, because you're coming back on Monday. You win with a tie. Tie goes a champion. Three to three.

00:20:29 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Three to three, final score. And Chris, we are not sending you to school this morning empty-handed. We're hooking you up with a $50 gift card to Chibo. It is a great restaurant to check out this weekend or whenever. Thanks for playing, by the way.

00:20:45 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. I can't believe I missed Nickelback. I know.

00:20:48 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Nickelback. If you have Chris as your teacher at Rochester, just make fun of him this morning. We'll see you back on Monday morning, Olivia. Good morning. Have a good morning. You too. Bye-bye.

00:21:07 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 1:

00:21:21 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 2:

You got a thing for cuffs? I swear. You guys, Lucy got me in trouble, and it like I shouldn't be in trouble and it's funny because she talked to you guys about it didn't she when you were at my house she talked to Lydia she talked to Lydia about it so okay let me tell you the story I was dropping off some stuff to the kids babysitter's house and their babysitter lives in Royal Oak and this was a couple of days ago and there was a police officer I pulled onto her street there was a police officer who had pulled somebody over at the end of the street. And she lives kind of right there. So when I pulled up into her driveway, I could see the officer get out of his vehicle to give this lady a ticket. And I noticed that he was super young and kind of hot. And I said out loud and the kids were with me. Oh, hello. I'm like, he's cute. Who can we hook him up with? And instead, as soon as we got home, Lucy tattled on me and told Wes that I was checking out the young, hot police officer. And I'm like, she left the part out of this story where I said, we should hook him up with somebody. And when you guys came over the other night, I was like, like Lydia or Megan or KP. But instead it was, mom was checking out the young, hot police officer and got me in freaking trouble.

00:22:42 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I don't know what it is with Metro Detroit police officers, but y'all are very attractive. Especially the ones downtown. And firefighters. Oh, the fire. Dude, I thought there was a fire at my apartment one time. We were all sitting in the park outside of my place, and we were all just gaping at the firefighters that showed up because they were so hot. Yep.

00:23:03 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 3:

Are there uniforms that make people instantly hotter?

00:23:06 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 1:

I like a firefighter in half of a uniform. Which half? Just the pants. I feel like that's like a show in Vegas.

00:23:16 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 3:

I feel like when I look at people in uniforms, there's something about a woman in scrubs I kind of like.

00:23:22 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't know what it is, but. And the scrubs now, they have those figs. I think the brand is called Figs. And they're really cute. They're jogger bottoms. And like the tops are a little bit better than just the, you know, standard scrubs.

00:23:34 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 1:

And I think a man in scrubs is so hot, except for when he's wearing the like surgery hats. You know how sometimes they go to the coffee shop and they'll leave that out and I'm like. Okay.

00:23:46 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 2:

You're just trying to tell everybody that you're a doctor. When I stay out of scrubs. I'm like, you shouldn't be wearing your scrubs outside of the hospital anyway.

00:23:54 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 3:

I know those are dirty. You couldn't have took that off, bro. You had to keep that on.

00:23:58 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 2:

But that's actually a good question. What uniform, or like what's the, I don't even know how you said it.

00:24:03 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what uniforms make someone hotter?

00:24:06 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:24:07 - 00:24:15 | Speaker 3:

844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. Did Wes say anything about this when you brought it up?

00:24:15 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 2:

He looked at me and he goes, oh, really? And I said, she left out the part of this. I wasn't, I mean, he was hot. I'm not going to not acknowledge that. He was a good looking kid. He was a kid. He was probably like 25 years old. I'm like, she left out the part of the story though where I said, who can we set him up with?

00:24:32 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 1:

So you like kids. Okay, got it. I really got a call to police. Why did I even come back to police? Bad boys, bad boys. No, I think certain cop uniforms are hot. You get the SWAT uniform on, and now I'm scared. And not in the sexy way, but scared, like, in the scared way. You don't like SWAT? No. It's too much.

00:24:54 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 3:

The bulletin vest doesn't do it for you?

00:24:56 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 1:

It's too much. You look like Iron Man going into battle. Like, there's too much.

00:25:00 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 5:

So, which police uniform looks the best? Do you like the blue? Do you like the brown? The sheriff? Do you like the state police? Which one looks the best to you?

00:25:08 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 4:

I like the formal blazer look that they wear to formal events, award ceremonies, stuff like that. Yeah. They have the jacket with the patches.

00:25:18 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 3:

There's a name for it, but I don't know what it is.

00:25:20 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 4:

It's like Navy whites. I think the white uniforms for the Navy.

00:25:24 - 00:25:26 | Speaker 3:

Remember when we were in Grand Haven doing Coast Guard Fest?

00:25:27 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh. Panty dropper. Panty drummer. It's a little early for that. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry.

00:25:33 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 5:

We're talking hot uniforms and who looks good and what. Kayla, what do you got to say?

00:25:40 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 2:

My husband is a mechanic, and very occasionally, he gets to come home in his uniform, and he's covered in grease and sweat, and it's just like, oh, it gets me going. I love it.

00:25:52 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 5:

The dirt under the fingernails does it for you?

00:25:56 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 2:

That's what does it for me. Like, I don't care if he smells, like, oil. It's like, oof, take me in the room.

00:26:04 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 5:

That was going to be my question. Do you make him shower as soon as he comes in, or you can have a little fun with him immediately?

00:26:11 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 2:

It depends on how dirty his hands are, but he does scrub them when he leaves work, and he scrubs them when he gets home. But if I see them and, like, nails are clean, hands are clean, I'm like, eh, what the hell?

00:26:24 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 5:

You go to the bathroom, see a little grease on the cheek, So, by the way, first time long.

00:26:29 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, everybody. Kayla's on the phone. And now my four-year-old is listening to you guys as well. See?

00:26:38 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 5:

Generational. Gotta love it. Thanks for calling, Kayla. Nikita, who's the hot one in the uniform for you?

00:26:47 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 2:

It's the military uniforms, but the dress one. Yes. With all their awards and medals and cords.

00:26:54 - 00:26:59 | Speaker 3:

Megan just made an inappropriate gesture with her tongue in the studio to agree with you, Nikita.

00:27:00 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 4:

How dare you? I deserve that after what I did to you, but how dare you?

00:27:04 - 00:27:06 | Speaker 5:

That's kind of like what you were saying, Megan, right?

00:27:06 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. All those formal... Like, if you had that weird gold rope around your armpit, let's go. That's a...

00:27:12 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 5:

No, immediately.

00:27:14 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 4:

Or, oh, cops on horseback. You like cops on horses? I do. Except they're like weird big stallions. I don't know. They remind me of the Budweiser horses. What are those called? Clydesdales give me a cop on a Clydesdale in Greektown and I'm like let's party officer

00:27:31 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to Clydesdale hey Carissa good morning

00:27:35 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 2:

good morning Kevin first time long time hey Carissa's on the phone who looks hot to you I am I grew up as a police officer's daughter and I am marrying a firefighter so I am surrounded by the uniform

00:27:52 - 00:27:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I love it. It's a fire in the pants.

00:27:55 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 3:

What fire department, by the way? Shout him out. Detroit. All right. Does he have any single friends? Oh, plenty. I'll bring you down to the firehouse. Oh, my God. We're going to be right there starting next week. I'll bake cookies. We can go to the firehouse. They'll cook us a nice dinner.

00:28:13 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 4:

We'll get the whole tour.

00:28:15 - 00:28:15 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what'd you say later?

00:28:15 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 4:

Don't make that face. I bet actual, like, I'll bake those cookies that I made that were really good so I can impress these boys. Yeah.

00:28:21 - 00:28:24 | Speaker 5:

I think any way you say I bake cookies is going to sound crazy.

00:28:25 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 4:

I meant my almond sugar cookies.

00:28:27 - 00:28:31 | Speaker 5:

It still sounds crazy. I don't know. Jacqueline, good morning.

00:28:32 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 2:

Hey, y'all.

00:28:33 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey, who looks hot to you?

00:28:36 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 2:

I love men that have their chef's jacket on because I love a guy that can cook for me. Oh, that's a good one. Oh, yeah.

00:28:43 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 4:

That's a great one. And then when they roll up their sleeves and they have some tattoos showing.

00:28:48 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's pretty hot. Yes, chef.

00:28:51 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Jacqueline. Hey, Sarah, good morning.

00:28:57 - 00:28:59 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Long time, first time.

00:28:59 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Sarah's on the phone.

00:29:02 - 00:29:10 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Sarah, who looks hot to you? My sexy construction worker husband. Oh, yeah.

00:29:10 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 3:

What's he typically wearing when he comes home?

00:29:13 - 00:29:18 | Speaker 1:

Usually hard hat, dirty hands, orange shirt, dirty jeans, work boots. Okay.

00:29:18 - 00:29:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hard hat, huh?

00:29:19 - 00:29:26 | Speaker 4:

I love how some women are like, ooh, I like somebody who has, like, a clean, pressed, perfect uniform, and others are like, dirty. I want him dirty.

00:29:26 - 00:29:27 | Speaker 2:

America. Yes.

00:29:30 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 5:

So, do you find police officers hot? Do you think Shannon—well, let me ask you this, because I feel like you're an honest person, right, Sarah? Yeah. Do you think that Shannon was really checking out this guy?

00:29:41 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 3:

But I'm admitting I was. Like, I'm admitting he was hot, but not for myself. Not for myself.

00:29:48 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

I find it a little yucky because my dad's a cop. Oh, so your dad's hot. Got it. He's in his 50s. I don't think so, but other people might.

00:30:00 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Megan would.

00:30:00 - 00:30:02 | Speaker 3:

I do. That's her age.

00:30:02 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 4:

So he's got a 401k. All right.

00:30:06 - 00:30:10 | Speaker 1:

We know we have the right to remain silent. We just suck at it.

00:30:10 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. Channel 955.

00:30:13 - 00:30:27 | Speaker 2:

All right. Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon's been told by everyone that it's out. And it's so much so that your stepdaughter is going into your closets and getting rid of your clothes.

00:30:27 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So, TikTok plus my daughters, Lucy, and my stepdaughter, Samantha, and even the mall are saying that skinny jeans are no more.

00:30:37 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:30:37 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 3:

This is killing me. They are out of style for both men and women. And wide leg jeans or straight leg jeans are prevailing this season. I took the girls to the mall. You can't find anything except for wide leg or baggy jeans, which are fine because I have some pairs of those and I like them. but I love my skinny jeans especially being short I know like wide leg jeans just make me look like a tree stump a lot of times yeah um and how do you wear heels with mom jeans or like even like I like wearing boots over like the bottom of my jeans for sure you can't do that with wide leg jeans I don't understand this don't tell me what to do I am still gonna bust out my skinny jeans with my uggs I don't even care this fall and winter but what was really funny is Samantha who's in her sophomore year went into our closet and took all of her dad's skinny jeans because he he wears i have to say past tense now wore real tight skinny jeans and she took them all out and was like we are getting rid of these you are not allowed to wear them you need to go to the mall and get new jeans so he ordered a bunch online you guys he looks like a total dad like they are dad jeans what he bought are they what are they because he like you has no booty oh and so he they're just and he's oh he's littler no offense once if you're listening like he's not a tall guy and they just i don't know it looks funny to me i'm like you look like a dad you know what this

00:32:05 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 2:

reminds me of it reminds me of when we were younger my sisters went in and got rid of my dad's dress shoes and bought him uh like a pair of gym shoes like got him a pair of nikes yeah Because my dad would wear dress shoes all the time with, you know, like jeans and shorts and everything. But has anybody ever had that happen to them? Has anybody ever had this where you cleaned out your significant other's closet or your parents' closet and you got rid of their clothes because you were just so tired of seeing them dressed in this? This is interesting. So skinny jeans are out.

00:32:34 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I protest. Skinny, skinny jeans. That's me in my skinny jeans. Look at me busting out of the seams. I don't care what you think of me Cause I'm happy in my skinny jeans

00:32:47 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 2:

There you go That's interesting I feel like this has taken a long time For skinny jeans to go out Cause skinny jeans seems like they were in for a long time

00:32:56 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 4:

This is what makes me mad though I feel like jean styles stay in style For like 15 years And then overnight it's like never again Never again

00:33:05 - 00:33:16 | Speaker 3:

And you know what's back in style is boot cut Boot cut jeans That was like middle school, high school. Over my dead body. Over my dead body.

00:33:16 - 00:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Because kids these days don't know that when you walk one day when it's raining, those bell bottoms are going to soak up every droplet of water. And then they start getting frayed. They're not supposed to be. You're cold all day at school while the bottom of your pants are just soaking wet. They suck.

00:33:32 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Amanda. What's going on?

00:33:35 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you are so far behind. Oh, shut up, Amanda.

00:33:40 - 00:33:44 | Speaker 2:

It's been a while, hasn't it? I mean, this has been talked about for some time now.

00:33:44 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, I've had wide-legged jeans for a while now, but my point is, if you go to the mall, you can't even buy them. Yeah, truly. Like, they are nowhere to be found.

00:33:53 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 1:

I've been finding them in years.

00:33:55 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 2:

No, that's not true. How long has it been?

00:33:58 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 3:

Two years ago, last year, I don't know.

00:33:59 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 2:

How long has it been since you've actually worn a pair of skinny jeans?

00:34:03 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 3:

Probably at least three years, I would say. You lie. And you probably look bigger than you are.

00:34:08 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 2:

Why? Oh, because skinny jeans help you look skinnier? Is that what you're saying?

00:34:11 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 3:

I think so.

00:34:12 - 00:34:17 | Speaker 2:

See, I always feel like they look skinnier on somebody like yourself. On me, they look like a sausage.

00:34:17 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 3:

See, I feel like I look, and I love wearing wide leg jeans because they're comfy, but I feel like I look, you know, like a sausage. I don't know.

00:34:26 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 4:

You and I just had this conversation when you went to shop for jeans. Yes, because I have been told by the young people of America, not only are skinny jeans out, but so are ankle socks. Apparently, if you wear ankle socks, everybody goes, you're millennial or older. And it's driving me nuts. So I went out and I bought, I'm wearing like three quarter length socks right now and I hate them. I feel so old and weird. I think what young people don't understand is in my science textbook in fifth grade, these were the socks the kids wore with their striped polos and khaki cargo shorts. Like, I hate these. And they were called chinos. Oh my.

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God, I hate this so much.

00:35:02 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 3:

By the way, it's funny. Somebody was telling me that jeans in general are out, that everybody, all the guys.

00:35:07 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 8:

Oh, Lucy wouldn't even let me buy jeans for back-to-school shop. Not one single pair. Everything's khaki nowadays. Nothing. Everybody wants khaki. Oh, no, it's black biker shorts and, like, yoga pants.

00:35:16 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 3:

Really? Beth, what's up? Hi, Beth.

00:35:19 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so, first of all, Madewell and Abercrombie sell them, so I bought them recently. But, second of all, you know, the millennials are the cool kids, right? not these little kids so we dictate what's cool and not that yes there you go stand up for yourself

00:35:34 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 3:

what's up nicole hey so i just want to huh where'd you go oh you just you bogged out say it again

00:35:44 - 00:35:50 | Speaker 6:

what were you saying i feel like wide big jeans make your butt look horrible they always make

00:35:50 - 00:35:57 | Speaker 7:

the most fat flat i can never find a good pair of like jeans now here's what i will say they do

00:35:57 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 6:

make my hips look great but my butt just becomes a pancake yes exactly i can never find a good pair if anyone knows if a good pair let me know but here's the deal we're all can prevail we are

00:36:09 - 00:36:20 | Speaker 3:

all still gonna wear no no if we all wear if we all wear what's in style then everybody looks the same way we all look like fat asses right don't we or flat asses too they don't make you look fat

00:36:20 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 8:

it's just they make you i think they make everybody look yes it's just straight straight it's just

00:36:24 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 5:

straight what's going on jordan hi so i don't mind that skinny jeans are going i mean i grew up in the 2000s it's i love skinny jeans but what i cannot handle is low rise coming back no my fupa cannot handle

00:36:44 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 8:

abso-freaking-lutely not i want my jeans up under my boobies

00:36:51 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 7:

the higher the better i feel like again this is going to be that we should title this kids these days don't they didn't grow up with like paris hilton and um like you don't understand how low low-rise jeans can go and we fought to get rid of those for you i don't want to see the top of

00:37:13 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 1:

your pubic hair i just don't aaron what's up hey mojo yeah this is how i feel about shorts anytime i go to the store they're all the really short short yes those are they're not long enough

00:37:30 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 3:

for me i actually got called out i was golfing the other day and a bunch of the red wings guys were golfing too and uh i got called out for wearing shorts that were too long they told me that I'm not cool because my shorts are too long. I don't want my ball sack popping out when I sit down in a chair, you know? Exactly. It's bad. The last caller was talking about her fupa. I'm talking about balls. That would be a bad day for all if that happens.

00:37:56 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 8:

I love the texter that just texted Megan and I try to pry my skinny jeans and ankle socks from my millennial hands. I will fight you.

00:38:04 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Who wants to go to Jingle Ball? Give us a call. What did I say?

00:38:08 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 8:

You just skip a couple.

00:38:10 - 00:38:11 | Speaker 4:

I skipped some numbers? Yeah.

00:38:11 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 8:

6-6-5-6-5-5.

00:38:12 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay, we know you're fragile this morning. Call what Megan said. Do that. She knows what she's talking about. Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30.

00:38:20 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 8:

What time were you texting us last night, Kev, in that York chat? What time was it?

00:38:23 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 4:

If I had to guess, I'd say it was a reasonable hour.

00:38:26 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 8:

Because I was sleeping, and then my alert went off.

00:38:28 - 00:38:33 | Speaker 4:

Somewhere around 2-0-3. I thought it was an emergency. 2-0-3 is what the message says.

00:38:33 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 7:

Instead, Kev taking photos inside the bar he was at. Which is funny because I was on live last night, And it was 9.45 and everybody was like, it's so late, Megan. And then your text came in this morning. I was like, that wasn't the worst.

00:38:44 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 4:

Shout out my boy Brandon, man. Great job DJing last night, bro.

00:38:48 - 00:39:04 | Speaker 8:

All right, Sophia Richie Grains is being slammed on social media after she admitted that her five-month-old daughter, Eloise, already has an iPhone. Do not tell Lucy Grace, please. She will use this against me. This is from yesterday's episode of The Therapist.

00:39:05 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 9:

Eloise has a little baby phone. that we like to text or I like to text and I say good morning Eloise and Sophia responds usually but today Allie took the phone

00:39:16 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 2:

so whoever's with Eloise gets the phone so at that very moment Allie was sitting with Eloise and you texted her and would you like to tell the story

00:39:25 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 9:

I said Eloise do you mind if me and your mommy talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today and she said no keep my name out of your mouth

00:39:34 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 8:

as you can imagine the internet Lots of social media critics had thoughts on giving your five-month-old a phone, which really, as you just heard, it's a clickbait headline. It's like whomever is with her at the time. Ryan Reynolds confirming that, yes, Taylor Swift is really the godmother of his three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty. In an interview this week, he spoke about a post that Taylor made over the summer.

00:40:00 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 2:

In which she wrote, shout out to Wade Wilson, a.k.a. my godkids sperm donor. That reference is to his character in Deadpool, of course.

00:40:07 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

Taylor Swift praises Hugh Jackman in support of Deadpool and Wolverine and playfully trolls her godkids sperm donor, Ryan Reynolds.

00:40:15 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that is actually going, I need that one on my gravestone, actually. Yeah, I'm probably going to go out in a hail of dragon fire or something, but yeah, that is kind of it. Yeah, she's the godparent to my daughters.

00:40:29 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 2:

I wonder who's the godparent to Olin, their little boy, their fourth. Probably Hugh Jackman. That's what I'm thinking. I think it's Hugh Jackman, too. Yeah. And lastly, for the record, Cardi B says she took no money from the Kamala Harris campaign to attend that rally in Milwaukee that we all talked about because she had a little teleprompter issue. She cleared up any misconceptions on the matter with a tweet aimed at conservative commenter Candace Owens, who had written on X, Hey Cardi, working on a story and was wondering if you were in any way paid to speak at the Kamala campaign event you spoke at. And Cardi replied by saying, I didn't get paid a dollar and that's on my three, referencing her three kids. She said, I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it's somewhere I wanted to be. She furthered her comment by saying, like, please, girl, you know damn well, I'll argue you down about politics for free.

00:41:27 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 3:

I feel like people forget she's very involved in politics and has been for many elections for different politicians.

00:41:35 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but she said zero dollars. And for what it's worth, race car driver Danica Patrick also came out this week to make it very clear that she got paid nothing to attend that rally for president elect Donald Trump that she was at. Hey, for all of this week's dirty catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

00:41:57 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 1:

Get more dirt at Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:42:06 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. This story is a crazy one. We were doing a pre-show meeting and Shannon was talking about a guy that she had once encountered or been friends with. That sounds weird when I say encountered.

00:42:19 - 00:42:23 | Speaker 2:

No, we were actually very, very close friends. We were very close friends.

00:42:23 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 5:

Did you guys touch dirties at all? Never. No.

00:42:27 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 2:

no never um this is the craziest story and i am still in the middle of going down the rabbit hole of this story so i have talked about this guy in the past on the show he's not necessarily the one who got away i wouldn't call him that but he's one of those guys that i didn't give a chance to and he wanted to date me and i friend zoned him but i you know have always thought obviously not now i'm very happily married but he was that guy that i was like oh i wonder what would have happened if i had given him the chance the what he's the what if guy so before i moved back home to detroit i was living and doing a radio show in atlanta and when i was living in atlanta i was single and i was wandering around ikea one day and this guy i don't know if i should say his name i'm not gonna say his name how about first name uh no call him doug can i guess it there's too much about him just say k you say k i'm gonna call him p his first name starts with a p this guy was walking around ikea i was walking around ikea we ran into each other and he randomly complimented my beanie that i was wearing my hat and made some sort of dumb joke and we became fast friends from that moment until i moved to michigan so probably about a year year and a half sweetest guy i was kind of interested in somebody else at the time so you know like i said i friend zoned him he was the guy who was just always there for me to pick up the pieces He was there when I was lonely on Valentine's Day, planned like a really fun day for me, made sure that I had mace because I was living by myself and walking to my car early in the morning. Like we always went out for margaritas and tacos. The nicest guy. Nothing ever happened ever. He never tried anything. We lost touch a couple of years ago when he had changed his phone number, but then he deleted his Instagram. And that's how we would just like randomly catch up and say hi to each other. Well, last Thursday, Facebook told me it was P's birthday. And I thought, oh, I didn't even know he had a Facebook because he had deleted his Instagram. So I was curious and went to his page thinking, I wonder what he's doing with his life right now. Is he married? Does he have kids? Where does he live? Because the last I knew, he lived in Florida. So I go to his page and my you guys, my heart stopped when I saw not messages of happy birthday from this year and last year, but instead, please and prayers for him to come home. call his family be found be safe he's been missing for over a year wow like missing so then i'm like wait what like this is not real life we start digging yeah so i'm saying this to megan i'm telling her the story she knows about this guy so then i start googling he is missing his family

00:45:22 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 2:

his his sisters have been looking for him and there are all there's a true crime podcast about his disappearance you're kidding there are posters there are police reports there are i mean i am going i am deep diving this thing and then there's a video that he posted to youtube telling this story about how he's safe he is not a missing person please stop looking for him he is happy he is healthy he doesn't have his phone nor his wallet anymore so he can't reach out to contact people personally which is weird and megan looks at me and goes shan he's in a cult he he joined a cult and cut off all ties but it like that just doesn't happen that's wild but this absolutely

00:46:10 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 3:

was one of those cases where so many police reports were filed that he was probably contacted over and over and over again at whatever commune he's living at that he put a video out being like stop calling the cops i'm fine i'm an adult and this is the life that i'm choosing but he has

00:46:27 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 2:

cut off everybody and the last like of anything that video was done in july of last year and then there is nothing nothing on google nothing on youtube nothing on instagram nothing nothing anywhere about this person just people are still begging for him to right be found and

00:46:46 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 3:

come home. I'm personally begging for the information to join. That is a crazy

00:46:52 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 2:

story. By the way,

00:46:54 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

do you now regret that you friend zoned the poor guy? The poor guy had to go run to a cult? Well, I was telling

00:47:00 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 2:

Wes this story because I couldn't stop thinking about it. And Wes is like, dang, you should have just dated the poor guy. I know, poor bastard. But then he goes, but then he'd probably really want to run away.

00:47:15 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 1:

But honestly, Has anybody ever had somebody that they've known join a cult like this? I've always wanted to know what it would be like to be in a cult.

00:47:24 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 2:

And please, God, I hope that he's joined a cult and he's not truly missing or hurt or not alive anymore. Like, that's the lesser of the two.

00:47:32 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 1:

But if he answered and said, I'm fine, then he's fine. Or maybe he's just off the ranch a little. Or what's the term? He's off the...

00:47:41 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 2:

It just made me sad and scared. Nicest human being.

00:47:45 - 00:48:27 | Speaker 3:

our cults really like that yes like they really out here i am the cult expert i've been trying to join and lead one for a very long time they're prevalent though yeah and the way that they mostly work is by getting you to cut off communication with your family but how are they recruiting they i don't know a lot of it is like commune living there is a sandwich shop on the west coast that like gets you to work there and then they can like they convince you hey you're working here we have these like communal housing so you can save up more money and then there from there just goes on and on and on but the primary like motive of all of these cults is to cut you off from any relationships on the outside so you can't leave and here's the crazy part he was very

00:48:27 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 2:

successful he was in med device sales very successful very smart person uh his he was really really close with his sister he was a great uncle he loved his niece like there was nothing like he didn't have a weird relationship with his family he had a ton of friends he had money he had a job a good job and that's where i'm like what in the heck happened some of them start as like

00:48:49 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 3:

wellness retreats and it's like we're just here to help you find your inner peace and it's if you stay here it'll help if you eat this like it just grows from there remember that uh cult that was

00:49:01 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

just down the street from us here at the station there was that husband and wife oh the twin flames yeah the twin flames people they lived literally lived in farmington hills right down the street from our iheart detroit studios and they were a couple that lived there and people would travel from all over everywhere to be part of their like learning how to love well there's a local family

00:49:21 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 2:

who did you already say that the tiktok the dance cult yeah and the mom and the sister still live here and the dad still live here and they're still you know wanting to get a hold i gotta be honest

00:49:30 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 1:

with you, it's really depressing when cults don't even want you. I guess. Doesn't that suck?

00:49:37 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 3:

It truly breaks my heart.

00:49:38 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 1:

Maybe this poor guy, maybe this guy's not missing. Maybe he's on search for you, Shannon. Maybe he's on search to figure out the missing love

00:49:50 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 3:

of his life. Dude, the moonies.

00:49:53 - 00:49:54 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Sasha? Hi.

00:49:55 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I was calling first time, long time. Hey there. Bye, bye, bye. Bye, bye.

00:50:00 - 00:50:01 | Unknown:

Bye, bye. Bye, bye.

00:50:00 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 2:

This is our cult, the first-time, long-time cult.

00:50:01 - 00:50:04 | Unknown:

Bye, bye. Bye, bye. Bye, bye. Bye, bye. Bye, bye. Bye, bye, bye.

00:50:04 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 4:

First-time, long-time. Also, the term is off the grid.

00:50:07 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 2:

Off the grid, that's it. Thank you. I appreciate that.

00:50:10 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I want to live in an ocean ship in the desert so bad.

00:50:13 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What?

00:50:14 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 4:

So I was calling to say that the sorority, I won't say the name that I went to, that I was in, I would say there's similar things to a cult in a sorority, right? And so they, like, controlled what I ate and what I was, like, where I went and, like, who I dated. And I didn't realize, like, it was partially hazing, but it was also, like, very cultish. And, like, even the initiation, like, we were down to, like, we had to wear, like, nude underwear and, like, wear a robe. And, like, we went through, like, this really weird, like...

00:50:51 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 2:

Wait, why did they do this? Why did they care about your underwear?

00:50:54 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 5:

As somebody who was in a sorority, I feel like I have to say that was not my experience whatsoever. The initiation is like a thing, but nobody ever controlled what I ate or who I dated.

00:51:05 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 2:

But are you talking about a specific cult or are you talking about just sororities in general?

00:51:10 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm talking about, well, the sorority that I was a part of.

00:51:14 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 5:

That is not normal. Yeah. They controlled what you ate? And her drawers. Yep. That's not uncommon. a lot of that is not why why do they care about your right like the more for the initiation there are certain things that certain like you you wear well then it starts changing who you are as a

00:51:34 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 4:

person so i can see how someone can like become brainwashed and become like you know away from

00:51:42 - 00:51:50 | Speaker 2:

their family and their friends wow that's nuts what's going on lindsey hi hi there how do you

00:51:50 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 3:

You guys know that he's not dead and someone is posing like him, like the Carrie Farber case, where the Dallas ex killed the girlfriend and she was posing as her for a year or so.

00:52:01 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 5:

Well, the video definitely is him, unless it's AI, which would be very strange because he's not like a celebrity. I mean, Jesus, I hope that that is not the case. That's deep

00:52:14 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 2:

That is interesting though To wonder if This guy has gotten himself Involved in a cult or maybe he's just Depressed And doesn't want to be around people Initial M, voice disguised We're talking about some guy that was Really good friends with Shannon That we believe in a cult What's going on?

00:52:36 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, first time caller, long long time listener M's on the phone

00:52:41 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 2:

What's up?

00:52:43 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 1:

No, this happened to my dad. My mom died a couple years ago. Mojo, you can probably relate to this. My dad started dating this woman, met her in grief share. They were engaged with him three weeks. He sold his house that we grew up in, cut off all communication from his kids and everybody. No one's heard from him since January. And he said, oh, I'm combining my finances with her. We're buying a house together. and no, we've filed police report. We can't get a hold of him at all. Wow.

00:53:17 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that this woman is keeping him from you guys?

00:53:22 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 1:

A hundred percent, yes.

00:53:24 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. And she's probably spending all of his money or using all that money.

00:53:29 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 1:

She got that. Yeah, that's what we think. We think this will be, if they've gotten married, it's her fourth husband. Each one has died.

00:53:37 - 00:53:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she's...

00:53:38 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 1:

Each one has died?

00:53:39 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 5:

No, don't.

00:53:40 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 2:

That doesn't make your dad skeptical.

00:53:42 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 5:

On the staircase?

00:53:43 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 2:

And worried.

00:53:45 - 00:53:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know. They fell. And so we drive by to see if we can see him out there, if he's still alive. Oh, my God. That breaks my heart.

00:53:56 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 2:

And your dad and you guys had a great relationship before this.

00:54:01 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 1:

Great relationship, yeah.

00:54:03 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 2:

That is the power of the P. She got up.

00:54:05 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 1:

We gather everything, and the second she came into the picture, he completely cut us off and said, I'm focusing on my new life.

00:54:13 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if I'd be like that. I could see it. But you become brainwashed. I could see being brainwashed by sex, you know? It's a woman attractive.

00:54:23 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that's a compliment to Chelsea then, right?

00:54:25 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know, but seriously, Chelsea always thinks that I have no backbone with things, but maybe i would maybe i tell me what her first name is so that if i ever encounter her i stay away this woman god that's nuts if that was my dad honestly i think you got to kidnap your dad but these people try no i think you as a but you as the daughter need to kidnap no i'm saying you

00:54:54 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 5:

try like they don't let you into their compounds it's like let's put it's crazy but we're not I'm looking at it.

00:55:00 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 2:

at this the right way like who's paying the bills because i'd rather just join like i'd rather just join you you're telling me i can live somewhere rent-free kill me can you try to befriend this woman and see if then we've tried because i think last fall he told me if you don't have a relationship with her then you can't have a relationship with me and i said no i don't need a relationship with her.

00:55:27 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 3:

That's nuts.

00:55:28 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what? Yeah, it's crazy.

00:55:30 - 00:55:30 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:55:30 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 2:

You know how everybody needs a job? Most cults need better PR departments.

00:55:34 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 3:

I work in communications and marketing. I can sell it, baby. I can sell it. You would want that. You would want to be part of this group. I can't believe how many texts we're getting from people who said this same thing happened to their dads. Yeah. This is a thing. Actually, one of them is Initial B, who's on the phone with us. Your voice is guys, too. Your dad went through the same thing that this last caller did?

00:55:55 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it actually kind of, I have chills right now because she's saying it, and I'm like, oh, my God, that's what happened to my dad. They tried to take the house and ended up, I don't know if you can say, like, killed or murdering him, and they tried to take the house from him, but it wasn't, like, it wasn't written out that way. So then they got upset, and then they tried to do more things. But, yeah, she needs to be very careful and probably call the FBI because that is definitely, and this has happened years and years ago, but that's.

00:56:26 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 3:

How did your dad meet this person? Do they, like, look at obituaries and notice that somebody died in the family?

00:56:32 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 1:

No. So I don't remember how they met, but it was, like, through mutual friends, like, just, you know, casually met. And then all of a sudden, like, literally almost the same story.

00:56:46 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's crazy. What's up, Dana?

00:56:49 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, Mojo.

00:56:51 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

00:56:52 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, you guys are describing these cults, and I'm listening. I'm like, man, this sounds like my marriage. My wife is the headmaster.

00:57:01 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 3:

Dana, you are going to get your butt handed to you when you get home if she hears this. Shut up. I know she's listening. We're going to never hear from you again, Dana.

00:57:13 - 00:57:15 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo, I got a question for you.

00:57:15 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 3:

Uh, yes, as long as it's not me joining in some kind of a weird threesome with you and your wife.

00:57:22 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 4:

As much as I know you would enjoy that. Okay.

00:57:25 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 3:

What's up? What's your question?

00:57:27 - 00:57:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so I hear you watch 90 Day Fiance.

00:57:30 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 3:

I do. Yes.

00:57:32 - 00:57:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you ever see Cousin Dana on there?

00:57:34 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 3:

Wait, is that your wife?

00:57:36 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 4:

That's me.

00:57:37 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's you? Wait a second. No, that's you? To the Googles. I mean, you? That's crazy. I know. I've been wanting to tell you that.

00:57:44 - 00:57:44 | Speaker 4:

Really?

00:57:45 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 3:

so often oh my god hold on a second yeah where do you live i live in canton wait a second minutes away from gino really i want to meet uh i want to meet gina uh gino's girl okay can is there any way that you like i i told chelsea that i think i would leave her for her

00:58:06 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 4:

yeah i uh um are we still on the radio yes wait what do you what do you got you got something good Uh, yeah, but we can't talk on the radio.

00:58:19 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 3:

Is Jasmine as crazy as she appears on the show?

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 4:

No, no.

00:58:24 - 00:58:26 | Speaker 3:

She's actually saying...

00:58:26 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 4:

Jasmine is a good team player. She is a wonderful person.

00:58:31 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:58:31 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 4:

How do I find somebody?

00:58:32 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 3:

Tell Jasmine that she could do better than Gina.

00:58:38 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 4:

All right. What's your next meet and greet thing that you guys got on? Hey, hey. Give me a... There's like four tickets to that, and I'll bring...

00:58:47 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Tickets to our rooftop party. Hold on.

00:58:50 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that one.

00:58:51 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 3:

So we got to have... Can we have you, your bride, and then will Gino and Jasmine come or no?

00:58:59 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 4:

Well, I know I could probably get Jasmine to come. My cousin Gino is not... He's not game for a whole lot of stuff like that anymore.

00:59:09 - 00:59:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he's not? So he's kind of... No. He just does the TV show and that's it?

00:59:13 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 4:

I can't say that a lot

00:59:15 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 3:

Alright hold on Hold on one second That's wild I wonder how the 90 Day Fiance people Got all these people in the Canton area You started it right

00:59:26 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 4:

Hold on one second

00:59:28 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Lydia's going to talk to you Mojo in the Morning Show Met a listener of ours I got to shout out two names for one person Are you okay with this So I went to Somerset yesterday, and I was hanging out at the Nordstroms, where I ended up running across a girl that was there. Her name is Giselle, and I want to wish her a hey. You don't know her as Giselle. She's not Giselle.

01:00:00 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 6:

Giselle at Nordstrom's she's actually Jennifer that was what her name tag said because she said hey will you say hi to me and I said absolutely and I said let me write this down I'm like Jennifer and she goes no actually say hi to Giselle and I said why am I saying hi to Giselle and I thought this was actually kind of funny she said she uses the name Jennifer on her name tag because creepy guys will come in and they will look her up on Instagram to follow her and then they'll hit her up in the dms because they'll see her name giselle and it's a very unique name

01:00:32 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 5:

that's smart i mean she's she's protecting herself i think that's really smart good for her she's got

01:00:38 - 01:01:14 | Speaker 6:

a creepy guy alias which was like to me the most awesome thing ever because i was thinking that would be a funny topic to bring up and ask other women and i don't know if you or uh megan or kp lydia um have ever used an alias like i remember back in the day when girls would go to clubs they would always have club names and they would use names when they went to the club and they would all know each other's club name so that when guys would come up and ask them what their name was they would give them a fake name 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number that is a

01:01:14 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 5:

smart thing though so smart especially with a with a very unique name like that like yeah and with how easy it is to find people nowadays yeah also what a creep i know how fast has that ever

01:01:26 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 6:

happened has that ever happened to any of you two where you meet a guy and a guy just as soon as you you know meet him he starts friend requesting you on instagram the immediate DM within the hour is like all right we got it dude like cool it's almost like so thirsty that you you gotta say man that's creepy it's really creepy yeah um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 hey mojo in the morning

01:01:53 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 3:

how are you hi how are you um i want to say i'm i do that i have done it over the radio and i do i do that with my basic name my actual name is laquisha but when they ask me like at a restaurant what can we put your name up under i always say taylor why wait why taylor and guess what guess I don't know who this is. This is Ms. Smith Smith.

01:02:16 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh.

01:02:17 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, hi. I got different names. Hi, hi.

01:02:19 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 6:

How many different names you got?

01:02:22 - 01:02:25 | Speaker 3:

Hey, whatever name I want to come up with. I don't know.

01:02:25 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 6:

I like that you come up with, like, the most basic name ever and Taylor as your name. Yeah. They see you coming in and they're like, Taylor, why are you Taylor today?

01:02:37 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's just because my name is LaQuisha and nobody can never pronounce it. So I just killed being my last name versus my first name.

01:02:45 - 01:02:50 | Speaker 6:

I love it. Thank you for the call, LaQuisha Taylor-Smith. What's going on, Jennifer?

01:02:52 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. So I was never allowed to change my name on my name tag, but I always wanted to. I worked at CVS in the pharmacy, and they used to make us wear our full names on our name tags. And I would have creepy old guys, like, sending me on Facebook and, like, sending me messages. And it was horrible. And they would never let me just, like, shorten my name to, like, just Jen or anything like that. Like, they would make me and everybody else wear our full first and last name on our name tag.

01:03:29 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That's really dangerous. Yeah. Yeah. That is very scary. Thanks for the call. Appreciate it. what's going on Raquel how are you or Rachel I Raquel I just made you I made you like a a porn star by changing your name from Rachel to Raquel a Latina yeah you're changing my name

01:03:48 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 4:

did you like that at all I do yeah actually I used to be called that sometimes that's funny um I'm gonna get Rachel here I don't ever use my first and last name on any social media I actually have opted to use my middle name as my last name so it's harder for people to find me uh because there's so many creeps out there they know my first and last name they can find everything right i've always just opted out to use my middle name as my last name be careful

01:04:17 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 6:

yeah you got to be careful what do you do for a living i actually sell billboards oh wow that

01:04:23 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 4:

get us a mojo in the morning billboard yeah i would love to i'll reach out to your marketing

01:04:29 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 6:

team yeah talk to them tell them we want to we want to be up on a billboard what's going on

01:04:33 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

delanda delanda exactly amanda delanda rhymes with amanda what's going on okay so my um themes feel with the name so on social not social media but the dating app a while ago i was kind of ashamed to be on there so i will always use another name on the top of the fact that people always mispronounce my name yeah so i'm bartending and this guy walks up and he's like you know

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

hey, such and such. And I'm looking like, who are you talking to? And who are you talking about? Like, that's not my name. And he pulled up my profile and everything. I was like, oh, my God.

01:05:12 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 7:

That's crazy. He actually was, you came up. Did he swipe right on you?

01:05:18 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and we had talked and everything. But because I was going under another name, I just didn't put two and two together. And he had came because I was working in a club. He was like, yeah, you know, you look so familiar. Is your name this? And I said, no, it's not. And, yeah, it almost got a little heated because it's like, you're not going to call me out of my name. And then he pulled that profile up. I was like, ooh.

01:05:37 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 7:

That's hilarious. Ban on with us right now. You must be Chaldean with a name like Ban.

01:05:44 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, and that's the whole point is when I was a hottie toddy going to the bars back in the day, my bar name was Gina.

01:05:51 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 7:

Why?

01:05:51 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 3:

Because I didn't want anyone to know I was Chaldean.

01:05:54 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really? Well, how did they think you were, like, Italian or something?

01:05:58 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. I used to pass more for an Italian, so I had an Italian name. I was Gina.

01:06:04 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 7:

Did you ever put on the accent, too?

01:06:07 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 3:

No.

01:06:08 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 7:

No? Do like a little Italian accent?

01:06:10 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 3:

She's like, oh, dang it, I should have.

01:06:12 - 01:06:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I'm from Clinton Township. That's me, Gina.

01:06:17 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 3:

Right. Which is why I didn't want to be identified as the Chaldean girl.

01:06:24 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 7:

I love it. Honestly.

01:06:26 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 3:

As the Italian girl.

01:06:26 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 7:

But could you date outside being a Chaldean or no?

01:06:31 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 3:

In secrecy, yeah.

01:06:32 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 7:

In secrecy. I'm telling you, they all do.

01:06:35 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 3:

This was back in the day, too. This was like, you know, I'm 50 now, so this was back in the day.

01:06:40 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 7:

Thank you. We love you. Monica, what's going on?

01:06:43 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, three different situations for alias. You know, the retail job with the name tag. I didn't like people approaching me, calling me by my name, thinking that, you know, do I know you? And then the other thing is I work at a collection agency, and then we have to wear our badges for our jobs. And if you're out and about and people see that, you don't want to come across the wrong person. And then social media, the last thing is my full name is not on any social media ever.

01:07:15 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Can I ask you a question? Are you like right now collecting right now? Because it sounds like there's people working behind you.

01:07:20 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm not collecting. I'm actually like in the legal department. I'm not. Everyone assumes that you're, you know, in collections when they see the bad.

01:07:32 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 7:

Collection. Because you can hear people in the background. Listen to them talking and working and stuff. You're in a call center or something right now.

01:07:39 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 4:

That's actually you. Oh.

01:07:42 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 7:

Oh, now I'm a little crazy. All right. Well, thank you for the call.

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 3:

Channel 955.

01:07:50 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 6:

It is time to give a trip away to Florida. It's Mojo's Florida Fi Away. Be the 95th caller, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Somebody's going to Florida. It could be you. Oh, wow. I mean, brilliant song choice. It's one of those ones for you? What kind of memories does this bring to you?

01:08:18 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 5:

No, it has nothing. I don't even like this song. but it's fly. Wait, what? It's fly and we're doing a flyaway. No.

01:08:23 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 1:

You don't like this song? Okay. This is like my brother and I are six years apart. He is, yes, in fact, six years older than me. Love when I get the comments that it's the opposite way. But I remember being like 10 in the summer and he was 16 and driving around and listening to this song with like the windows down. I love this song.

01:08:40 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 6:

This sounds like a good like smoke weed song. Like if you were to like watch like a weed smoking type movie, like a Pineapple Express type movie, this would be like the intro song. Well, that's why I picked it. For real? No, no. Put the high and fly.

01:09:04 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Just put the smile on your face.

01:09:08 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so fine. Do it again. Word. There's no time to think about the start and all the end. Come on. We'll find out I'm so. My mother, she told me so. Yeah, you're the one.

01:09:31 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 6:

I just want to fly. Are your heartburns? Let me hear you, Megan.

01:09:35 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 1:

Put your arms around me, baby. Put your arms around me, baby. Oh, how dare you do that?

01:09:43 - 01:09:47 | Speaker 6:

We got to do karaoke, man. I don't want to. I put this on, Shannon.

01:09:47 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait. I know so many good karaoke places. That's what I'm saying. Here's the thing. Last Chance Saloon in Detroit is my favorite. We'll go. I want two karaoke nights, though. I want, like, a fun...

01:10:00 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 3:

Pop culture, best music you've ever heard. And I really, Shannon, and I'm saying with her because I know you're going to say no. I want, like, a musical theater karaoke night.

01:10:07 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, I would die. I will wear costumes. We could be the Skylar Center. Step it up.

01:10:13 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 4:

With the Lion King? Yeah. Oh, I can do that. I just can't wait to be king. I can do that. No one says do this. No one says do this. I'll let it.

01:10:23 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 3:

No one says do this. Stop that. No one says do here. No one says do here. We don't run around all day.

01:10:31 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 2:

Now, that's definitely out of the question.

01:10:33 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 3:

We'll do it all my way. Let's go. It's later. It seems that you and I have had a hawk-a-hawk. Let's go. Kings don't need advice from Little Hornbills for a star.

01:10:46 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 4:

I love it.

01:10:46 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 2:

Mojo's like, never again, never again am I leaving you guys in the studio alone.

01:10:51 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 4:

I love it. Whatever. Mufasa's coming out, I think, around Christmas, too, so we should all go. Let's do that. We're up thinking of the way. Yes. All right. So let's give away a trip to Florida. Let's get a qualifier on the line right now all the way from South Lion. Is it Krista?

01:11:08 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's Krista.

01:11:10 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes, Krista. Hi. How are you? Yes. You're in. You're in. South Lion King. Yes. You got a $50 cash card. Clard. Oh, Lord. You got a $50 cash card plus you're qualified to win that trip to Tampa, Florida. We're going to write your name down. How are you?

01:11:31 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 1:

Awesome.

01:11:32 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 4:

Awesome. A little good? What are you up to right now?

01:11:36 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 1:

I'm actually driving home from Canada. My son goes to school over there.

01:11:40 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's fun. Whereabouts, eh?

01:11:44 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

He goes in Windsor to the BioSteel Academy. Wow. Oh, that's pretty cool.

01:11:49 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 4:

All right, so I got your name written down. Megan, you got my hat. I don't do it like Mojo. I like to do it kind of old school. Can we get like a drum roll in here? Let's put a crystal name in there, okay? Alright. For the trip to Tampa, Florida. Mix them up. Pull that one out. I got it. Our winner going to Tampa, Florida is... Danielle from Grand Rapids! Woo!

01:13:34 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Nailed it.

01:13:35 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, numbers. They're hard. Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:13:41 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 2:

There's no more going on.

01:13:43 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 4:

What is happening?

01:13:44 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, what's going on? Guys, I have breaking dirty news right now. You're going to hear it here and nowhere else. What?

01:13:54 - 01:13:54 | Speaker 3:

What is it?

01:13:55 - 01:14:00 | Speaker 2:

Poop Watch 2024 is officially over. Smith just passed the magnets.

01:14:00 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 3:

Yes! He swallowed a week ago. Yeah, I can't believe that was a week ago.

01:14:05 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 2:

We're going to repost the podcast if you missed it from earlier this week. Yeah, I just got word from Miss Lucy. That's the good thing, Shannon. Thank you, Jesus. Yeah. All right, during their last face-off, the weigh-in for tonight's boxing match on Netflix, the legendary Mike Tyson slapped Jake Paul across the face. It was a big slap. Do we have the Jake Paul clip, Zach? Megan, you were right. This was after the fact. This was his comment.

01:14:32 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 4:

Why he did it?

01:14:32 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 3:

Wait, I'm sorry.

01:14:33 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 4:

What was that? You were right, Megan, yeah. I didn't realize. Like, the clip I saw was, I think, like, knee up. But if you want to tell everybody why he's not.

01:14:40 - 01:14:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I was wondering because I was watching, like, TikTok but on mute and I saw the slap and I remember seeing Mike Tyson, like, point down at the ground and start yelling. And I was like, I wonder if Jake stepped on his foot. And he did. He did.

01:14:53 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, listen to this.

01:14:54 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 4:

He's angry. He's an angry little elf.

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy.

01:14:59 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

But tomorrow you're going to knock.

01:15:00 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Back the f*** out. I'm f***ing him up, Ariel. I'm f***ing him up. He hits like a b***h. It's personal now. It's personal now. He must die.

01:15:10 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 5:

Did you guys watch the documentary on how they got involved in boxing? Absolutely not. It's so interesting. The sport was dying. And they are literally just doing this to get big deals with Netflix. So, like, it's super interesting. But just know that, like, they're there because the industry was dying.

01:15:28 - 01:15:33 | Speaker 1:

That's why I think it's rigged. I think it's going to go to a decision and Jake Paul's going to win.

01:15:33 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 6:

Really? It's free to watch, right? On Netflix. By the way, tonight's Matt will be Mike Tyson's first professional boxing match I think in 19 years.

01:15:43 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 1:

Well, he had that one back in 2020 but that was like an exhibition or whatever. Yeah.

01:15:50 - 01:17:27 | Speaker 6:

Some big breaking dirty. Last night, a former Detroit Lions player facing federal charges relating to the January 6th riots at the Capitol back in 2021 One Antoine Williams arrested yesterday and is accused of assaulting law enforcement during those riots. Photos show him during the breach of the Capitol. Again, it's alleged he assaulted officers. He tried to break down the bike racks and the barricades that were put in place to keep rioters from getting inside of the Capitol building. Now, if you're going, who is this guy? He was drafted by the Lions in the fifth round of the 2016 draft. He only played for one season with the team. That's why I don't know if a lot of people would even recognize his name. Went on to play for several other teams after playing for the Lions, but he was arrested in Georgia yesterday, now facing multiple felonies and misdemeanors, including assaulting and impeding certain officers and obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder. And lastly, the Jonas Brothers paying tribute to the late Liam Payne by covering One Direction's night changes at their show in California this week. I'll leave you with this. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, you can check out the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:17:28 - 01:17:40 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. This is so bad.

01:17:40 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 5:

I could not get the Lion King out of my head. I know. I hate you both.

01:17:44 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 4:

That's why we should do another number. I'm just saying.

01:17:46 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 5:

Should we just do like a... I can show you the world.

01:17:51 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 4:

Shine, shimmering, splendor. Okay. We found his karaoke zone. That's literally the only part I know. After that, it turns to like... Let's go to Southfield. Let's go to Teddy Swims. Let's go to Jingle Ball, and let's bring Ashley with us. Congratulations, Ashley.

01:18:12 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, I'm so excited.

01:18:14 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 4:

You're going to Jingle Ball.

01:18:16 - 01:18:16 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:18:17 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 4:

Now, Ashley, you're getting a pair of tickets. You sound like someone that has a ton of people who love her. Who are you going to take?

01:18:25 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 2:

I do. I'm actually going to take my son. He's 16. We've been wanting to go. What's his name? Shout him out.

01:18:32 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, Andre. Shout out Andre. You got the best mom in the world. She's bringing you to Jingle Ball. You're going to see Teddy swim. Yeah. Mojo on the morning show.

01:19:03 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 5:

Please don't.

01:19:04 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Megan.

01:19:04 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 5:

Why is it always my topics? It is always my topics that get so weird.

01:19:10 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 4:

You're bringing this out of me.

01:19:11 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 5:

Or spoiled right at the beginning. One of two things happens.

01:19:15 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 4:

So, Megan, what do you want to talk about?

01:19:18 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 5:

I want to go in the other room and get my work done. That's what I... I want to go pee. I want to finish my breakfast. I want to go in the other room. And I think part of that is because I'm done being at work today. And not because it's a Friday. Not because it's 8.30 in the morning. But it's really because I still have all of my Christmas decorations at home. And I'm ready to be on Christmas break. Oh, you're in the mood. I'm done. I've checked it. I put on the Christmas music for the first time yesterday. I know we've been talking about this a lot the past couple of days. Everybody said I had to wait until after Thanksgiving. Not going to happen. First of all, didn't know there were such big Christmas sales that happened pre-Christmas. Thought that was only going to happen on the 26th of December.

01:20:00 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 3:

It turns out every store yesterday had all, Target, Hobby Lobby, I think Michael's did as well. Like everybody had 50% off Christmas decorations yesterday. And I was like, well, this is the only time I can afford Christmas decorations. So I went out yesterday and I got everything and I set it all up because I'm the kind of person and I need to know what you guys do. Do you do the same decorations every year, like traditional, sentimental, whatever it is, or do you do what I do, which is the worst, and I have to have a trendy Christmas. I need to have, like, current, up-to-date, this is going to look tacky next year, but it's in right now, put it on Pinterest, Instagram it, my apartment is decorated in the 2024 trend right now.

01:20:46 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 2:

So you have velvet ribbon everywhere.

01:20:48 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 3:

Everywhere. Everywhere. I have velvet ornaments, I have velvet ribbons, I got yelled at by one of the employees yesterday And she was like, what is going on with all of this velvet ribbon? I keep ordering it and I can't keep it in stock. What are you doing?

01:21:00 - 01:21:05 | Speaker 2:

And I was like, decorating my Christmas tree. Yeah, that's very trendy this year.

01:21:05 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 3:

I have like five ornaments from my childhood that I put on the tree that I hate ruin the tree's aesthetic. But I love them too much to not hang them up. You have to put them up. But other than that, it has to be on trend, on theme, cohesive and work together.

01:21:20 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What about you, Shannon?

01:21:22 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 2:

So I do both. I have a tree that I would say is pretty trendy. Like I ordered new stuff for it this year and Wes kept going, how many more bins of Christmas stuff are we going to have this year? The answer is a lot. So I do that tree and then I put up like a fake tree that I got years and years ago at one of those at-home stores. And I put all – truly my favorite ornaments are the ones that the kids have made over the years or the ones that are sentimental to me or, you know, whatever. And so we have that one as well. And then I let the kids each have a little teeny tiny fake tree in the room that they can put whatever the heck they want on. So it gets, like, we have a lot of trees. But I do, so I do kind of both, a trendy and a nostalgia, or as Smith says, this tree is so Nigeria. I'm like, the word is nostalgic, but he gets very good. It's so Nigeria, mom. I'm like, it's nostalgia. Okay, that's hilarious, mom. Can we write that down in the future, too? What word does your kid say wrong? Because that's great. We said it the other day. I was like, okay, I know where he's going. Is this the wrong word?

01:22:27 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Tell us your, I was about to say Halloween. Tell us your holiday decoration. Are you a trendy person or what do you do?

01:22:37 - 01:22:39 | Speaker 2:

I love the themes, too. What's your theme?

01:22:40 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, for me, we got like a tree in a box, I think, from Myers or something like that, like a few years ago. And we've used that every single year. I think this year we got to do something different. and all of the ornaments are the same every single year wait so the tree is decorated when you get it out of the box no no you gotta build it and then we bought all like the ornaments so now i will say we have like a bunch of gold is gold white and red like ornaments okay and then there there are enough of each color to where you can just have the all gold tree or the all red or you know i mean like that so we kind of like mix it up a little bit and then josiah has like his sonic ornament or something like that and then we all got like our name like the first initial of our name so we can like have the family on there that's cute yeah but people are already like full like shannon your house is nice like you don't your house isn't ugly with lights i've seen lights where there seems to be no type of rhythm to it it's like we just gonna throw everything up it's gonna be blue here red there green it's crazy the kids keep saying it's so

01:23:41 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 2:

boring because they're just white but some of them are twinkly i love it do you want to hear

01:23:46 - 01:24:17 | Speaker 3:

This is my controversial Christmas opinion. I think it should, this is going to sound bad, but I hate multicolored lights. I hate it. Do you think they're tacky or why? I just think Christmas should have, like, white lights. And it's because, to me, only ever experiencing Christmas in the north, it's, like, it's snow. It's, like, clean, it's crisp. If it's green on Christmas Day, I am pissed if I can see the grass. white lights that are under icicles and under the snow that just like glow that yellowy glow I love it

01:24:17 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 1:

love it. What do you think about like people who have like the projected lights like are we a fan of those? Lazy. No

01:24:25 - 01:24:33 | Speaker 3:

Lazy. You don't like projected lights? On the garage door and you're like I decorated let me go plug this in and put it on a timer. If Mike were

01:24:33 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 2:

on with us right now he'd be so pissed because I think that's what he does. Remember his neighbor got really mad because they were shining in his window

01:24:39 - 01:24:56 | Speaker 3:

I'm not mad at him, no. You could get mad at me about this. Blow up decorations in the front yard. I hate seeing your deceased plastic caricatures in the morning because it was on a timer. And now I'm driving to work and all I see is plastic in your front yard. No, it's bad.

01:24:57 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 1:

Not deceased, though.

01:24:58 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 3:

Dude, I don't need to see Santa all crazy. crumpled up, and looking like a crime has been committed.

01:25:03 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 6:

Hungover, and he had a long night. Hey, Paige. Kind of like somebody else I know in the studio this morning. Oh, Lord. Hey, Paige, what's your Christmas decoration?

01:25:12 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Happy Friday. Happy Friday. I am a huge Grinch person. I love the Grinch. Hobby Lobby is my favorite store come Christmas.

01:25:23 - 01:25:28 | Speaker 6:

So do you have the blow-up Grinch, or where do you have the Grinch right in your house?

01:25:28 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 3:

I do have one little one, just because I agree with Megan. I do not like the inflatables, really. But you can't pass up a $2 Grinch at yard sales, so I have to get them. I feel you there, but just in case you're wondering, I am already getting roasted in the text for saying that. Really? So I'm getting my dues from people who are pissed. I'm so detailed that my kitchen at one point was blue or a teal color, and I loved it. It was P-Factine. But because it didn't match my Grinch Christmas themes, I had to totally repaint it this summer.

01:26:03 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 6:

You said P? Peacock. Oh, okay. I just heard P. Thanks, Paige. Hey, Sloan, how does your house look right now?

01:26:13 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 5:

My house is, hi, also. Hi. It's loaded with Christmas. I want the ornaments to be hanging from the ceiling. I have tinsel everywhere. I get the old-school tinsel and, like, throw it on my tree. Love it. The crazier looking, the better. Shiny everything.

01:26:33 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 1:

See, that's very nostalgic. That's very Nigeria.

01:26:36 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's the goal. I, like, want to wake up. I want my kids to wake up and, like, everything is sparkling everywhere. Yeah, I love that.

01:26:43 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 6:

So, I got a vacuum. That's the thing, bro.

01:26:46 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 1:

With the tinsel? Yes. Yeah, the tinsel. But it looks so pretty. I can't find it anywhere. I don't know where to buy it.

01:26:52 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 2:

I literally have tons of it from last year. Do you have any gold tinsel? No, just silver.

01:26:57 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 6:

I don't want it. Hey, Kelsey, your mom does something interesting. What does she do?

01:27:02 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so my mom, like, does a little hack for decorating, and when she's done with the tree, she just, like, saran wraps it, so that way next year she can just, like, take it out and just unwrap it again. No, ma'am. However, we have, like, eight trees, though, and the one year she used garbage bags, So, like, you walk into her attic and you have all these wrapped trees that just look like body bags in her attic.

01:27:24 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. That's so funny. Have you ever thought about calling the cops and being like, I think you should chug out the attic?

01:27:30 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 5:

Just a little bit. Because she also has a few cardboard cutouts up there, too, of, like, random things. So it really does look like a very interesting scene if you walk into her attic.

01:27:39 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 6:

So earlier we were talking about the difference between the all white lights and the color lights. Whitney, what do you think about this conversation?

01:27:49 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 4:

So we were driving down the road the one day, and my husband's like, oh, look, those people are poor. And I was like, what? That's so rude. He was raised that white lights meant you were rich and colored lights meant you were poor. Oh, my God.

01:28:05 - 01:28:06 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

01:28:06 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, you're rich. I'm serious. So I called his mom and was like, what is going on? Braven keeps commenting on all of these houses saying that they're rich or poor. And he's like, oh, yeah. She's like, oh, yeah. We told him that when he was little. like as a joke it stuck with him forever so we cannot have colored lights wow Nigeria that's so funny that's a horrible horrible like what kind of parent do you just forget that but the fact that it's stuck through adulthood is so funny wow it makes me sad don't don't do that don't make it serious just I've had colored lights my whole life

01:28:49 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 1:

it's another mojo in the morning holiday shopping safety tip be careful confronting the a-hole that stole the parking spot that drives a truck that's all jacked up but big tires he has a big problem with his manhood and is probably packing heat all right it is mojo in the morning i want to

01:29:06 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 2:

ask you guys uh am i rude it's kind of like am i an a-hole or am i the a-hole but i'm going to do it as a different one um do you guys think that this was rude because chelsea thinks it is and i told her that i was going to prove a point that it's not uh we went to a friend's house uh who invited us over just for dinner and they just said hey do you want to come over it's not like a dinner party but we're gonna make make dinner and we just wanted to have you guys come over and kind of you know just hang out and and uh have like a little casual during the week type of uh get together and uh chelsea said absolutely and we went over to their house and um we walk into the house and I have a couple of things, and this is going to make it veer off course a little bit. I hate taking my shoes off because I never know what kind of socks I put on in the morning. So I always hate the fact that sometimes I have to take my shoes off because people don't like me. like to wear their uh shoes in the house and i have like holy socks you know so my new thing now is i go over to people's house and i pull a mr rogers i actually have these uh what the heck is that a hawaiian uh shoe company olakai or okaku or something like that you know talking about it starts with an o it's like okay ua or something like that they they make these uh they make these really comfortable like slippers yeah scott mick loves those they're really i know by the way scott Mick and I are basically the same person. Twinsies.

01:30:32 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

I think it's why I love this.

01:30:33 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 2:

Hawaiian shirts, Hawaiian shirts, bad shoes. We are like the most unfashionable human beings ever, but we are comfortable.

01:30:41 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 6:

He wore his fancy Hawaiian shirt for you this weekend.

01:30:43 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 2:

I loved it. I saw him and I realized he's one of those guys I feel like I've been friends with my whole life. So I go to their house. I take off my shoes, take off my hokas. I put on these things and I'm all cool. And then I look up at our friends, Will and Jessica, and I said to Will, I go, hey, what's your Wi-Fi password? And Chelsea looked at me and goes, oh, Tom. Like she knows that, Tom. And I said, what? And she goes, that is so rude. And I said, why is that rude? And she's like, you should not ask for their Wi-Fi password. And I'm like, well, it's not like it's like secretive. It's not like I'm going to be sitting in their driveway tomorrow at 3 o'clock in the afternoon downloading files or something like that. I just want to make sure I have it. And she said this, and you guys tell me if you think that I was rude now after her explanation. She said, by saying to them that I wanted their Wi-Fi password, I was basically telling Will and Jessica that I don't find them interesting at all and I'm going to be on my phone the entire time. But at some point, I know I'm going to need it, right? Because you want to have faster service. And also, I want to write some prep down and stuff like that for the show. They always give me some good stuff to talk about. And at some time, I'm going to want it. Why is it so bad to ask somebody for their Wi-Fi?

01:32:08 - 01:32:10 | Speaker 1:

I would have done the same thing.

01:32:10 - 01:32:12 | Speaker 2:

It's okay. See, I'm not rude.

01:32:12 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 1:

I don't know that I would have done it right upon walking through the door. Immediately. if i only had one bar and i'd probably say hey what's your wi-fi and what's your wi-fi password

01:32:23 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 6:

honestly this is my natural uh at some point in the day it's gonna come up the reason why i kind of made a sound earlier is because of chelsea's reasoning behind what she said she felt as though that you weren't going to be present so i can understand from that standpoint yeah but wanting up where i'm going to be on my phone at some point in this conversation i don't give a damn how lit the time is i'm gonna be on my phone so we're running my phone hey sarah what's going on was

01:32:48 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 3:

i rude hi there i'll say a little um you sound like you were kind of anticipating boredom

01:32:54 - 01:33:05 | Speaker 2:

maybe right off the back but don't you when you go to somebody's home and what kind of device do

01:33:05 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 4:

you have all devices i have apple iphone tablet so do you have so by the way i didn't i only brought

01:33:12 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 2:

my phone with me i did not bring all the devices that would have been that would have been even funnier nintendo switch but but at some time you you ask for it and a lot of times you'll just ask them to share it with you right like so you'll just basically say hey will you share it and

01:33:27 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 4:

if we're doing a activity that requires wi-fi like if we're um maybe like if we're watching a movie or if you want to stream something that everyone is going to enjoy that's one thing but

01:33:37 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 2:

to ask for it for your personal device and yeah a little different my my uh my wife uh you know gets mad at me of how often i'm on my device in front of her that it gets to a point where i understand her point on this but i need it eventually because it is a work night chad what's

01:33:58 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 5:

up hey how you doing mojo first time caller long time nice to meet you there chad yeah you too i gotta say this man you gotta at least give these people a time of day and not be on your phone i mean if you want to take notes about something you don't need wi-fi you can just open your phone put stuff on notes i mean it just shows that you're there you're present you want to be with I think nowadays everyone's so glued to their phone Just put it down Enjoy some human connection with people And don't worry about it I mean that's just my opinion

01:34:37 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 2:

I feel like I am naked I feel like I'm walking in without pants on If I don't have connection Jessica, hello

01:34:47 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Hi, how are you?

01:34:49 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 2:

Good, what's going on?

01:34:51 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 3:

I think I

01:34:52 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 2:

What's that? I'm sorry Do you agree with me or Chelsea? Oh, forget it. Your phone's bad. Why do you agree with Chelsea?

01:35:03 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 4:

Because I think, first of all, asking for the Wi-Fi password, I think more of the kid thing that when the kids come over, every kid always asks, what's the Wi-Fi? Which is fine. The kids is one thing. But an adult asking for it, if Kevin, my husband, asks for the Wi-Fi password at someone else's house, we have a little problem.

01:35:23 - 01:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Because you just assume that he's going to be tuned off.

01:35:25 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're going to be on your phone. And you guys are always on your phone.

01:35:30 - 01:35:40 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever been at somebody's home, and they are so secretive with their Wi-Fi password, they act as if their Wi-Fi is, like, their social security number? What is that?

01:35:41 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 4:

Why? No, because we're not, nobody's ever really talking about their Wi-Fi except the kids.

01:35:46 - 01:35:56 | Speaker 2:

People, though, will act like that, and I've had that before with our kids, where our kids wanted somebody's Wi-Fi, and the people are like, I'm sorry, but I cannot give you.

01:35:56 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 1:

That is dumb.

01:35:57 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:35:58 - 01:36:06 | Speaker 1:

Wes has a sign when you walk into his house that has his Wi-Fi password and the name of the network right on there. So you don't even have to ask.

01:36:06 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 2:

I thought of actually having a separate Wi-Fi and setting this up on my Xfinity at home that says guest. Like Tom and Chelsea's guest. Renee, what's going on?

01:36:17 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. How are you this morning?

01:36:19 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I'm doing fantastic, Renee, and I'm even better that you're calling. What's going on?

01:36:24 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I don't find it rude. I have my Wi-Fi network and password printed and framed in my living room.

01:36:33 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

That's great.

01:36:34 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 5:

You can just access it.

01:36:37 - 01:36:46 | Speaker 2:

That's great. You know what? I like that. It's almost kind of like if you walk into the Delta Sky Lounge. They have it like sitting there on the counter. What's going on, Ethan?

01:36:47 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 3:

First time caller, actually. Hey, hey. Ethan's on the phone.

01:36:51 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 2:

What's going on, buddy?

01:36:53 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, long-time listener. So I'm going to know that maybe you should have said that, you know, how teachers are like, oh, you may use the bathroom instead of can. Like, instead of saying can, you should have said may I have the bathroom.

01:37:06 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so that might be it. My grammar wasn't proper. Yeah.

01:37:11 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:37:12 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 2:

That's exactly it. I always, I love when you have, you know, friends of yours that are school teachers and they will correct your usage of the English language. What's up? I love it.

01:37:24 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 6:

katherine hello katherine hey hey i was calling about the um the wi-fi thing like i'm sorry i might be late but no i whenever i go to my sister's house that's the first thing i'm like what's the wi-fi but me and her will just sit around each other and literally not even talk and just be on our phones all the time it's just like we will go chill and be bored around each other to be bored be on our phone. You know what's funny?

01:37:52 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. If we are out with friends sometimes, sometimes with friends, if I talk to them on the phone, I have more social interaction than if I am there in face-to-face.

01:38:04 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 6:

In person? Yes.

01:38:06 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 2:

It's really funny how that works sometimes. Alright, it is Mojo in the morning. Oh my god, you guys. KP has officially become an adult. She's an adult. she's been now adulting in ways this morning i uh sent to kp a text message and i was going through the starbucks line and sometimes she'll go can you pick up my coffee for me at starbucks and uh i just wanted to make sure before i pulled out if she didn't order a starbucks or whatever and so so i reached out to her on text and she reaches back to me and says

01:38:42 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 7:

i'm making big moves i bought a nespresso oh my gosh and i've been holding back on the nespresso because i have a thing about single-use plastic and i realized that you can recycle the aluminum pods so then i'm like right back literally i'm like i'm not about to pollute the earth for my convenience anyway the nespresso has changed my life like oh my god wait what's an espresso is

01:39:08 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 2:

Is that like a Keurig machine?

01:39:09 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 7:

It is. But better. Yeah, it comes in pods that just taste better, in my opinion. And you can, like, it came with a frother. I paid extra for the frother. And oh, my God, my life has changed. I'm like, I feel like a new woman. I feel like an adult. You look like an adult today. I have also, this week, mastered the Slick Back Bun.

01:39:30 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow.

01:39:31 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so you got two adulting things that you've done. Yes, you go. Yeah, it looks good. The Slick Back Bun, is that a hard thing to do?

01:39:37 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 7:

It was for the longest time for me For some reason I looked like a wet rat But now I look like an adult It just looks good I feel like I am in a new phase of my life Where I just want to Be more put together Not only for my own mental health But for just company's sake i don't look like a bum when i come to work um yeah so i've been setting up my clothes the night before oh my god that's another one i've been trying to get up uh consistently on time which is really hard for me because i'm not a morning person i've never been my whole life so trying to be better plus lydia's out and she's like she's my best friend and i need to show up while she's out so i've been yeah yeah i've been trying to be better so okay so this

01:40:26 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 3:

is interesting let's let's shout out what is the adult thing that you just recently did that you want to call yourself out for this is a really good moment right now show off that you are an

01:40:35 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 7:

adult how old are you kp 25 25 years old my frontal cortex is fully developed now holy christ and my collagen production is now reduced so i'm getting four headlines that'll be fun that's amazing um i need some help you need to answer my text megan i need your recommendation on a

01:40:53 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 3:

new tanning mitt too 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number text is 95500 I always thought that the most adulting thing that I ever did was when I first leased a car like when I leased a car I first thought and back then it was before you could just direct deposit to the thing they had like those little coupon books where you had to like send in and do it writing a check to me it was like one of those things have you ever written a check before I have written a check is

01:41:21 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 7:

it a weird feeling it does feel weird i have a little template i wrote out so i don't forget how to correctly but you know what another adult thing is you don't leave your car uh below a quarter tank my mom used to yell at me all the time your car you should not be half fuel below quarter tank you need to so having your car consistently filled so that you're not like rolling into the gas station which has happened to me once or twice um is again it's an adult thing in my opinion i felt

01:41:48 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 8:

like i was all grown up when i started making my own doctor and dentist yes and showing up for him i still very much remember like doing that for the first time and putting it in my little yeah franklin planner or whatever the heck having a franklin planner is an adult loved a good paper planner they'll have one uh what's going on it's mojo in the morning what's

01:42:13 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 3:

up, Eddie? Hey. How you doing? Well, I love it. Cab's out today. Zach's in the other room answering calls. So Eddie on the phone. What's going on? What's up? I just graduated high

01:42:32 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 2:

school and I'm 19 and I was like, I need more things to mature. I need to start doing more things. I already work with kids. So I was like, you know what? I'm going to start going to the farmer's market, and I've been going to the farmer's market every time. Look at this guy.

01:42:45 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 3:

He's an adult. The farmer's market.

01:42:48 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 7:

You'll find good women there, too, if you're single.

01:42:52 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 2:

And you know what? I do. I find good ass...

01:42:55 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you gotta cut that out. You can't say that on the radio. What's going on? How you doing, Lourdes? Hi. Hi. What's your adulting thing?

01:43:04 - 01:43:09 | Speaker 6:

I just bought my first, very first car at the age of 20.

01:43:09 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

I love it.

01:43:10 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 6:

What did you get? That's really big. 23 trailblazers.

01:43:15 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 3:

Look at you. Did you get a good deal on it?

01:43:19 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 6:

Yes, for sure.

01:43:20 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible. Congratulations. What color did you choose?

01:43:24 - 01:43:29 | Speaker 6:

I chose the limited color that was, what's it called? Iridescent Pearl.

01:43:30 - 01:43:36 | Speaker 3:

Look at Iridescent Pearl. If you can even have a car that says Iridescent in it, you're an adult. That's amazing.

01:43:36 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 6:

I know, right?

01:43:37 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 3:

We love it. Congratulations to you. That's a big moment. Sam, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:43:42 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I just have a comment for KP. Yes. I love her. She's so cute. But KP, you know this espresso machine's not going to last. I saw you at the car contest run so fast to go get your Starbees when there was fresh coffee there. That was for Mojo.

01:43:58 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And I will also say that as somebody who also spent way too much money on an espresso machine, you will save so much money. So much money. Like, it justifies the purchase so quickly that you will not want to go back.

01:44:12 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 7:

Unpopular opinion. The only thing at Starbucks that's good are their cold brew coffees with Kramer. Yeah, that's the same with me. Their coffee is crappy.

01:44:21 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 4:

Their fall coffees. Bye, guys. Bye.

01:44:23 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 3:

Bye, Sam.

01:44:23 - 01:44:24 | Speaker 4:

Love you, too.

01:44:24 - 01:44:25 | Speaker 3:

Carly, what's up?

01:44:26 - 01:44:27 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:44:27 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:44:28 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 5:

So, my comment basically is that I had to sign up my three-year-old son for, like, school. And when I was talking to them I felt like I should have referred them to an older adult And not me Because it felt very weird to tell my own son's information

01:44:41 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh isn't that weird So that's an adult moment mom Is that that little one that's right there That I can hear

01:44:49 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 5:

No that's my 9 month old

01:44:51 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh wow so you got your hands full

01:44:53 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 5:

I do

01:44:54 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 3:

You know what here's the deal You know it's an adulting moment when you have the two That are running around

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 5:

getting you crazy and you actually remember what you got to do and you get dressed in the morning that's an adulting moment for you as a mom what's going on d hi good morning good morning what's

01:45:11 - 01:45:29 | Speaker 7:

happening nothing at all just in the car on my way to work heard the comment and i had to call yeah what's your adulting moment that you'd like to share um i just told him i said i'm 30 turning 33 and i finally started transitioning my own address picked up my own mailbox yes that's

01:45:29 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 8:

No, you can't make me that.

01:45:31 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 7:

Your insurance is about to go up, babe. Yes, everything is linked to my mom's address, my doctor's office. Everything is mom. I'll use my mom's kids' school address, use my mom, send everything to my mom's house. Get ready for the paper bills. I know, and I'm like, you know what? We're grown now. Let me just start getting my oatmeal so I can know where everything is at.

01:45:51 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 5:

Here's the thing, though. That's a big moment. Now you just got to remember to go check it. That's when you realize that it truly is an adulting moment.

01:45:59 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 7:

Oh, you got to pick up your keys from the post office. I'm like, wait, what?

01:46:05 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 5:

Congratulations. Nick, what's your adulting moment?

01:46:09 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. So I just started working full time out of college about eight months ago. And for those first six months, I was just rolling out of bed at the last second. And like two months ago, I realized, you know, maybe getting up early would actually kind of benefit me. So I started waking up at 5.30 and going to the gym before work as opposed to after and, like, actually trying to get a good start to the day. And also, I realized, like, with expenses and stuff, I made a spreadsheet.

01:46:37 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 5:

Your expenses, too?

01:46:39 - 01:46:43 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I did. Between, like, student loans, rent, car insurance, all that.

01:46:43 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 5:

Buddy, how old are we?

01:46:45 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 4:

23.

01:46:46 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing.

01:46:47 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 8:

I have a spreadsheet, too, Nick. Good for you. I have a spreadsheet. I update it every month.

01:46:50 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 5:

Seriously, give this guy just a nice applause. Oh.

01:46:54 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 8:

There's something magical about this spreadsheet. It just makes you so excited. Yeah, but the first time I made that spreadsheet, I cried. Oh, I don't write the formulas. I buy a template from somebody else. Math is now my fault.

01:47:07 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 5:

We're proud of you, buddy. As a dad, I'm proud of you, my friend. Good job, pal.

01:47:11 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, Mojo.

01:47:12 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 5:

Have a good one. Take care of yourself. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:47:18 - 01:47:19 | Unknown:

Dirty.

01:47:19 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 2:

Just announced, Conan O'Brien has been tapped to host the Oscars. The 97th Academy Awards going down March 2nd, 2025.

01:47:32 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 1:

Megan, I know you and your brother watched the movies prior to. Make sure you're all up to date. Is this a good choice?

01:47:39 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, I think he's going to do great. I think it's funny that you need a comedian for these events. You need somebody lighthearted that's going to poke at everybody. Please do better than Joe Coy did. I love Joe Coy. That was a mess. He did the Golden Globes, though. But I, more importantly, am focused on Cynthia Erivo getting nominated for Best Leading Actress and being the youngest EGOT winner ever.

01:48:01 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 2:

Please. Ugh. And man, does she deserve it. She really does. Yeah. Ryan Reynolds confirming the rumor that we all knew was true anyway. Taylor Swift is godmother to his three daughters, James Inez and Betty. In an interview we did this week, he spoke about this post that Taylor made over the summer in which she wrote shout out to wade wilson aka my god kids sperm donor that reference is to

01:48:24 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 8:

ryan's character in deadpool of course taylor swift praises hugh jackman in support of deadpool and wolverine and playfully trolls her god kids sperm donor ryan reynolds wow that is actually

01:48:35 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 6:

going i need that one on my gravestone actually yeah i'm probably gonna go out in a hail of dragon fire or something but uh yeah that is that is kind of it yeah she's the god parent to my

01:48:46 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

daughters. I hate doing these stories, Kev. I don't know how much you love him. Kanye West is facing a brand new lawsuit from an ex-employee accusing him not only of lewd behavior but also anti-Semitism. So this is the latest claim that he allegedly wore a swastika shirt after making his former project manager listen to him and his wife have sex. Murphy Aficionado alleges that Kanye summons him to a Beverly Hills hotel room back in November of 2022 and that when he walked in Kanye was shirtless he was out of breath his pants were unbuttoned uh Bianca was topless with her hands barely covering her breasts and he said it was obvious that they had just you know had done their thing. Murphy also claims that 10 minutes later Kanye walked back into the room as if nothing had happened and he was wearing a t-shirt with the Nazi logo on it before asking him hey do you like my shirt he claims kanye sat down with him after that and randomly showed him some naked photos of kim kardashian so many other stories part of this lawsuit uh probably a little bit too graphic to talk about right now so i'll just i'll leave this part of the lawsuit there but Murphy.

01:50:00 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 4:

Fiscianato fired in 2023. He is now suing for discrimination, a hostile work environment, retaliation, and failure to pay wages. I know. And lastly, she is in her comeback season, and we are here for it. This absolutely gives me goosebumps. Celine Dion hit the stage in Saudi Arabia to perform at the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab Fashion Show in celebration of the Lebanese designer's 45-year fashion career. And she was just absolute perfection. This is her singing live. This isn't the song. Whoa. oh my god it's so good what's wrong with her voice because she sounds perfect well she has stiff person syndrome which is very very rare um so it has taken her a long time to even get back to singing because her body essentially, like, she experiences these really awful spasms. What? It shuts down. Yeah, her whole body shuts down. And for a long time, and Megan, correct me if I'm wrong, singing was, like... A trigger. Yeah.

01:51:25 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 1:

So she can just pop out though randomly and kind of do stuff? Or it just depends on how she's feeling?

01:51:30 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 5:

So if you watched her documentary, she has a full-time medical staff around her that when she... I don't know what the right terminology here is, but I want to say, like, falls into an episode because they do come on kind of randomly they administer medications i monitor and we'll take her to the hospital if she needs like bigger um care than they can provide um so i think a lot of training has gone into addressing what causes these episodes and then um how to quickly then get out of them but i i think the big thing with the olympics was um you never know when it's going to happen so it could be like three minutes before showtime and she could get sick right yeah but

01:52:07 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 4:

Still, oh my God, the most beautiful voice.

01:52:09 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 5:

Do you think she's the best singer of all time?

01:52:11 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 2:

Hell no. Whitney Houston.

01:52:13 - 01:52:16 | Speaker 4:

I would put her up there. I mean, Whitney's up there. I'd probably say it was Celine.

01:52:16 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 5:

I'd put Kelly Clarkson up there. Kelly Clarkson? Yeah. I don't think Kelly Clarkson gets the accolade she deserves. But Celine Dion's up there in the top 10.

01:52:25 - 01:52:26 | Speaker 4:

Cynthia Revo should be up there.

01:52:26 - 01:52:28 | Speaker 5:

Cynthia Revo should absolutely be up there.

01:52:28 - 01:52:36 | Speaker 4:

Do you know what my favorite Dan Campbell quote of all time is? You can have one butt cheek. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.

01:55:56 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 5:

It's kind of like, where does his brain go? I don't know. He's in these moments. He just blacks out. It's that cup of espresso shots he drinks every day. He just blacks out. All right, so we got some people already calling. All right, so let's go to line number two. Let's start with Aaron from Adrian. We got Aaron on the phone. Aaron, what's up?

01:56:15 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 1:

01:57:18 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 3:

When we knock you down, we're going to get up and eat your kneecaps off.

01:57:23 - 01:57:24 | Unknown:

Yeah!

01:57:24 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right. All right. All right. Okay. Melissa.

01:57:29 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 5:

How do we feel, Megan?

01:57:30 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 3:

I was so mid, my girl.

01:57:35 - 01:57:39 | Speaker 5:

All right, let's go to Lauren, line number five. Lauren, how are you?

01:57:39 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 2:

Come on, Lauren. I'm good. How are you?

01:57:41 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 5:

We're doing great. Are you ready, Lauren? I feel good. I feel the energy from you. I miss what we're supposed to do. Okay, so I love this. We're going to do a lot. So we're giving away gift cards for your chance to purchase tickets to the big game on Sunday. But in order to win, you got 10 to 15 seconds, and you have to give us your best Dan Campbell impersonation, your hype-up impersonation. Do you have that in you? Maybe. Okay, do you know who Dan Campbell is? Let's start there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, okay, okay. All right, so I'm going to count you down. Three, two, one, go. Go.

01:58:20 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 4:

All right. Okay.

01:58:23 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 5:

All right, she's gone. All right. Let's go to Nick. Let's go to Nick, line one. Nick, are you ready? Yes, I am. All right, I'm counting you down.

01:58:31 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 4:

Three, two, one, go. We're going to kick you in the teeth, and when you punch us back, we're going to smile at you. And when you knock us down, we're going to get up. And on the way, we're going to bite a kneecap. Okay.

01:58:45 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 5:

All right. All right. All right, so listen, let's do two more? Yeah. All right, two more, two more. That's it. Brittany, you ready, Brittany?

01:58:53 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes, I am ready. All right, Brittany. Come on, Brittany.

01:58:56 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 5:

Three, two, one. Let's hear it.

01:58:59 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 3:

All right. This is Danny Dan Campbell on the phone right now. We're talking about Mojo in the morning here. They're busting those kneecaps. They're coming down to Detroit. They need certain markets. They're here for the team. We got a game ball. The Cavs are always hyping up Fridays. Oh, my God. I think we have our winner. We got our winner?

01:59:19 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 2:

All right. I say yes, but you said two more, so you got to be fair. You're right. You got to be fair.

01:59:24 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 5:

Let's pick a random. Let's pick a line five. Who we got on the phone right now? Why do you do that? Brittany. Brittany, you got to call back, Brittany.

01:59:36 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 2:

Brittany, please call back. I messed up.

01:59:39 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 5:

Hang on the line. Do not hang up, and we promise we won't hang up on you, okay? I appreciate it.

02:01:15 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan has something big that she wants to talk about here on the air, and I want everybody to take a listen to this, and then I want you to either give her a little bit of advice or maybe even tell us what you would want to do if you could do it to yourself. But Megan, what's happening?

02:01:34 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 4:

I'm in a very interesting spot right now in my life and specifically this weight loss journey that I'm on. And I'm in a position where I'm not, how do I want to phrase this? I've worked really, really hard to get to where I am right now. and I'm just so unhappy with the way that I look. And I started having this conversation with some people who are really close to me in my life about I am starting to make appointments for a lot of plastic surgery appointments for next year or procedures for next year, I guess is how I should say it. And I'm getting to the point where I'm very terrified to go through with something like this, But I'm also very aware of the fact that I'm not going to be happy until I do it. But I also know that it's a really, really big deal. And it's a really big procedure.

02:02:32 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 1:

Can I ask a couple of questions?

02:02:34 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, of course.

02:02:36 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 1:

It's not like you're, you know, oh, my God, I just lost all this weight. Now I'm going to go get myself some, you know, quadruple D's or something like that.

02:02:43 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 3:

No, God, no. Actually quite the opposite.

02:02:45 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 1:

it's it's actually that there's uh there's some things that when you lose weight you don't realize oh man i've lost weight i look you know you look great in clothes so to speak and then you go oh my god there's some excess stuff there that you want to get rid of yeah i don't think people

02:03:03 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 4:

realize how uncomfortable i am in clothes because i'm wearing so many undergarments to try to pick up everything that is just now loose and wiggly um and not where i want it to be specifically my boobs um so no i'm looking to have like major reconstruction like

02:03:22 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 2:

reconstructive surgery yeah are you is it are you doing um everything at one time are you doing like separate and forgive me if i'm being too invasive with the question no i i'm very open

02:03:35 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 4:

about what I want to have done um three of the surgeries that I want to have done will all be done at the same time I'm I wish that would make my life a lot easier because I'm gonna have to hire a caregiver afterwards so um I'm going to need to hire somebody to come and shower me and

02:03:52 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 3:

stuff like that which is probably the most intimate thing I will ever have to do and is honestly the most embarrassing part about all of this uh but we got a couple listeners that may volunteer yeah squirrel no it's poor squirrel's girlfriend um and then i'm guessing the other one

02:04:13 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 4:

because it will be facial reconstruction will have to be later so most of it your face your face so your face is no i agree there's one thing that's really bothering me and it was the weirdest part about losing weight is that my eyelids have become so droopy that i have gotten weird

02:04:28 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 2:

that's actually a very popular surgery yeah and that's a very minor surgery yeah so i don't want

02:04:34 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 4:

a brow lift and what they can do is just remove a little bit of your eyelid and then like re-sew it together and make it smaller again because my eyes have drooped so far down yeah that's a popular one so literally that will i'll just probably come in the next day and wear sunglasses

02:04:48 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

for a couple of weeks around here it's wild because you know this is a this is big for you because this is part of that journey, but you and I had this conversation where we talked about losing weight.

02:05:00 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 4:

but yet still looking at yourself in the mirror and you still see somebody that you're not happy with and a lot of cases it has to do with now your body is completely changed when you're when when you are at a level where you're heavier your face fills out yep and you kind of look like oh wow i actually you know my face when you're when you lose the weight your face kind of concaves a little bit then things get droopy and things yeah and then your belly same situation yeah yeah and

02:05:26 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 2:

the crazy part to me is everybody's like oh my god you're so happy and they don't realize that i have never felt worse about the way that i've looked wow that's amazing because it's so funny

02:05:37 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 4:

everybody's telling you how gorgeous you are and you are but i so appreciate and it's so kind to

02:05:43 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 2:

hear but it's truly like the most debilitating thing right now to be like everybody's like are you gonna date again are you gonna do this that and the other thing and i said no because i i truly have never felt worse about my body and it's something you know it's it's interesting uh

02:05:57 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 4:

megan because susan are you there susan i am here one of the one of the things real quick before you talk but one of the things that megan's talking about for anybody that thinks that this is for vanity it's not it's also for your health and you are going to talk about that right now with you Go ahead, Susan.

02:06:16 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. First of all, Megan, you're gorgeous. But I want to talk about breast reduction because I just had one. I mean, just very, very recently.

02:06:26 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 4:

Just one breast?

02:06:27 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 3:

No, both.

02:06:28 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. All right. Because I was going to say that.

02:06:30 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm all excited now.

02:06:31 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 4:

Do you get a discount if you just do one breast reduction?

02:06:36 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you do. A real big discount. But they want to know if you do your left or right. i had to have a i've thought about it for years and i had to have a lumpectomy so with it they will do a breast reduction to make you even and i had the breast reduction done i went from an h to a d and megan i cannot tell you how thrilled i am it's not that bad i mean the you know the healing process is not that bad i was up and went to not very cautiously but went to a an open house two days later but it makes you feel so great and the only reason i know i'm at a d is because i just got measured this past weekend i think you know i can walk around my back feels better um i i look better i'm able to button up shirts without the gap in the front you know i know i know what you're going through that's something i cannot spend a

02:07:34 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 2:

a zillion dollars on bras that have to be a special size i mean your health exactly it's

02:07:39 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 4:

amazing it's you know obviously you're you know you're get you're losing weight because you're getting you know healthier and that's the goal is to live longer right but then you're also talking about your your body health of your back and you know your joints and everything like that

02:07:54 - 02:08:05 | Speaker 3:

after the fact like i yeah i called it yeah i called in not too long ago and said um i forget what the topic was but where my son asked what those things on my stomach were and they were my

02:08:05 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 2:

breath oh yeah it was when smith told me that my cheeks were sagging which yeah yeah maybe i'll do

02:08:11 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 4:

something with you and now they're no longer on your stomach susan that's awesome anymore good

02:08:17 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 3:

for you yeah that's awesome did you go to somebody good i did go to somebody good and if megan wants to talk to me i'd be happy to talk to her but i did go to somebody very good okay he wouldn't go he would only do what looked good on my body he wouldn't you know do a side you know like i didn't say hey i want this side he said i will take you down as much as i can that makes you look good

02:08:38 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 4:

wow hang on and talk to us and give us your good doctor by the way yeah yeah um claire what's up it's mojo in the morning megan uh is talking about how next year might be the year that she goes and takes care of some other stuff. What's going on?

02:08:57 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 1:

Your voice is, guys, by the way. Yes, yes. I ended up wanting a bigger chest, but I didn't want to do implants, so I went for a fat transfer breast augmentation. So they lipo fat from one part of your body, and my back was unproportionately large to my body, so they did that and put it on my chest. And to be honest, it has such minimal results that now that I'm healed, it almost like wasn't worth it. But the side of that is that I ended up being so happy with the lipo on my back. It changed my life. And even though I knew I probably wouldn't have a huge dramatic change, it wouldn't totally change my life and make me happy. I'm just so proud that I did something to make myself feel better. And I took that step to do it. So in the end, whether I had a much larger chest or not or whatever, I was happy overall. And I think that is what makes you happy. Just know it's not going to change your life and make everything better but you will feel stronger and more confident let me tell you what I'm most afraid

02:09:55 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

of by doing this and I wonder Claire if you'll agree with this is that

02:10:00 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 4:

I get so much criticism and critiques from strangers and just unsolicited opinions on my body before I lost the weight, my body now that I've lost the weight, how people think that I've done it, whether it was safe or not. Like the constant unnecessary feedback can be quite overwhelming that the only thing I'm worried about is that if I go through with this and I do all of this, that I will never hear the end about how was she just paid for this or it was the plastic surgery or she's setting a poor example for others or whatever it is. i that's truly it where i am right now where i don't think i could cope with the feedback which is why i'm trying to talk about it now so if i decide to go through with it i can which you should thank you because you've been talking about it for a very long time that people know that this was a process and people know like because the one thing that i get all of the time is this must be so unhealthy she's done it so quickly yada yada yada people don't know i'm nearly a year and a half i'm like approaching the two-year mark on this journey nobody noticed for the longest time um and i just i don't think that mentally right now i can handle the the feedback from others

02:11:20 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 2:

if i decide to go through with i think you have to talk because it's something that you have to deal with with probably your your great therapist but you have to talk to your therapist and talk about that and then the he's got to figure out a way to give you the confidence to say who cares what other people are saying and i know that you hear the noise and you do care but there's got to be somewhat of a way where because you're always going to have that and people are always going to comment on things that honestly nobody asked them for their comments and unfortunately you're in a position where people see you and know you and you know your vote you're very vocal um you know with your life and there comes a point where it's almost kind of like you got to do it for you you don't do it for you don't do it for anybody else and you don't do it to not hear from anybody else

02:12:13 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 4:

yeah it just um feels like it doesn't matter what i do it's never good enough but good enough for what for you or for the audience for uh other people it was not good enough that i gained the weight in the first place it was not good enough that i lost it because people are making assumptions and they're never correct um not good enough for just being happy with the way that i look now not it's just a constant feed of i'm not good enough from people that I literally receive on a daily basis.

02:12:48 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 2:

That's what you got to talk to him about.

02:12:50 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 4:

No, I constantly talk to him about that. That's truly why I started going to therapy was because I felt so worthless because people tell me that every day.

02:13:00 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 2:

I think sometimes you just got to surround yourself around the good enough people.

02:13:05 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, I, yes. Like those, my therapist made me do like the, did your therapist make you do the circles, Mojo, with like you in the middle and then your closest family and then your friends and then goes out and she was like worry about the two circles that are closest to you that's it everybody else guess what you can say whatever the heck you want but you're worried about those you know those people that are closest to you

02:13:29 - 02:13:53 | Speaker 2:

and honestly I believe that there are some people that are good at putting the noise out of their head you know there's somebody and I got I think that those people are amazing I think I have gotten better at that but I don't know I i megan i think you know you have talked about doing this for the longest time i think that your intentions of doing it are the right intentions for you and everybody else

02:13:53 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 4:

can go f themselves yeah you're also right it's much easier said than done yeah um but i will say

02:14:01 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 2:

this to you though when you do do it i do really think that you could help others by talking to them about your feelings about how it's changed you because i know you say that you haven't you've lost weight but you don't feel good about it i see a different megan than i've seen oh me

02:14:20 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 4:

too but again i think that was more therapy than weight loss because i've done nothing but become more jaded towards people since losing the weight i know that you it's obviously how you feel about

02:14:33 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 2:

it but man it seems like ever since there's like a strut in your stuff man that that's great

02:14:38 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 1:

and that is that more to megan is that more mindset change than physical for sure that's what i'm saying that's why no matter how much weight you you lose unless you lose the the mental weight that you've been carrying around it's always going to be something to your point

02:14:51 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

and i also believe that honestly weight is is very much so more emotional than it is even the physical act of putting food in your

02:15:00 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 5:

mouth and when you talk about living your past and your whole life the past is meant to be sometimes i can look at it when i'm when i have my you know my focused eyes it was like the past is a school but oftentimes we allow it to become a prison where you have life in a school there's an expiration date hopefully unless you fail a bunch of times but you're you're inevitably going to get out but so oftentimes we stay locked in behind those those walls yeah that's wow that's

02:15:28 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 1:

well put i love the texter that said instead of saying f them babies megan you need to say f them

02:15:33 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 9:
