Showtime.

00:03:21 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

We'll be right back. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning show. It's nice to have you guys with us today. Today is Wednesday, which means we got a lot of stuff coming up today. Phone scams, senseless surveys, five lies to tell your mom. All happening this morning on the show. The prizes just got even bigger after yesterday's big Ticketmaster mess, Taylor Swift tickets. we'll talk about that in just a second and how you can win them and exactly the time that you can win them before you can buy them Jingle Ball tickets every hour so we'll have another chance for you to win coming up here in just a few right before Shannon does the Dirty on 30 is when we solicit so we'll give you a chance to either call in or text in to win a pair of tickets to our Jingle Ball on December the 6th and we will talk about some fun things happening on the show By the way, if you haven't seen the video that Reese posted late last night to the Instagram and Facebook and stuff, you've got to go see Spike's reaction when he realized that the interview that he did with one of our Jingle Ball artists, Nikki Yor, was not really Nikki Yor.

00:05:00 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 4:

The slap of the control table that you have there with double hands and the pushback was hysterical. Yeah, it was hysterical. Reese even super slow-moded, which was fun. So, Reese, matter of fact, you know what? Can you make that a bitmoji for me so that I can... So anytime that I want to post anything like, damn, like one of those type of things, maybe we can add that to the damn, like, damn.

00:05:27 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 5:

Make it the gift. Your wish is my command. Yeah.

00:05:30 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 4:

Let's see if that will get on there. All right. Yeah, GIF, not Bitmoji. Or JIF.

00:05:37 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

I still can't say GIF.

00:05:38 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 4:

I can't figure it out. Taylor Swift tickets at $7.50 just got even better because yesterday Ticketmaster effed it up for everyone. Actually, to be honest with you, I don't necessarily know if it was just Ticketmaster. Maybe it was the whole tour because the whole idea that twice as many people signed up for a pre-sale than there were tickets available probably is not a good idea. And yesterday, the Taylor Swift concert tickets went on sale for a pre-sale, and so many people were stuck online. I think all I saw on social media was the timer of how long people were on.

00:06:19 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Or where you are in the queue.

00:06:20 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that was the problem with this.

00:06:23 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 3:

Wondering why Ticketmaster's site was down on Tuesday? Bad blood between Swifties and Ticketmaster reaching a boiling point. Fans attempting to buy pre-sale tickets to Taylor's Eras Tour stuck in the live event site's digital queue for hours after the site appeared to freeze. Swifties taking to social media, calling the pre-sale a nightmare. an absolute dumpster fire, and one person saying it's called the ERA's tour because if you try to log into Ticketmaster, all you get are ERA messages. Things throughout the day on Tuesday reporting delays and glitches that rendered them ticketless. Please, God, please. You took me a kick.

00:07:13 - 00:07:14 | Unknown:

No, what just happened?

00:07:14 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 3:

A spokesperson for Ticketmaster telling ABC News millions of fans registered for Taylor Swift's ERA's verified fan presale. with demand more than twice the number of tickets available. Then on top of that, millions more showed up to try to buy.

00:07:28 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 4:

By the way, the interesting thing is go on TikTok and watch the TikToks that were put together by dads and moms of their kids being frustrated trying to get these tickets.

00:07:38 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 3:

But for some, Tuesday's snafu is indicative of a bigger problem. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeting, Daily reminder that Ticketmaster is a monopoly. Its merger with Live Nation should never have been approved, and they need to be reined in. Break them up. But now this morning, resale sites like StubHub have tickets listed at much higher prices. Two tickets for a Saturday show in New Jersey listed at more than $35,000 each. Each. Each.

00:08:12 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 4:

What? $35,000. By the way, you should have your debit card, credit card, whatever you're buying it, taken away from you if you spend $70,000 on two tickets for a concert.

00:08:25 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 5:

Millionaire parents that don't want to see their kids cry that are willing to pay. I'll pay $35,000 just so that news guy doesn't spit on me anymore when he talks.

00:08:33 - 00:08:47 | Speaker 2:

I know. And stop with the puns. My girlfriend was trying to get tickets to the June 19th show. I don't know what city that's in. And she said that the resale tickets, $22,500 for two seats together. What?

00:08:48 - 00:08:49 | Speaker 4:

Why June 19th? Why is she not wanting to?

00:08:49 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

Maybe she's on vacation and it was that city. I don't even know what city it is, but she texted me yesterday. She said, this is bonkers. Nosebleeds are $500 plus a seat.

00:08:57 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 5:

Well, the crazy part about it is the Ticketmaster knew how many people signed up for presale, right? They knew how many people got the codes from Capital One and all that. so they knew how many people were signed up as verified fans and we're going to try to get tickets yesterday so then how did the system not handle those amount of people that they

00:09:16 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 1:

crashed their servers but the annoying part about ticket master in general is the more people in line and the more demand the more they increase the ticket prices yeah so you can't if they say the tickets are for sale for 125 a seat that is a lie if there is 10 000 people on the website trying to sign up, those immediately go up in price based on Ticketmaster's

00:09:36 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 4:

own choices. By the way, is it Ticketmaster or is it the artists, too, though, that are agreeing to do this? Well, it's both. It's both. Because there's no way that Ticketmaster's pocketing all this money. They're in on it together.

00:09:46 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 5:

You get a share of it. You may have heard of the great Bruce Springsteen ticket debacle, but that's where they experimented with this and realized all those boomers who wanted to see Springsteen or Paul McCartney were willing to pay more.

00:10:00 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 4:

to get good seats so they just did it they set up this algorithm and the computers based on how many people were trying to access those seats all the problem is algorithm well it's computers they figured out this many people on tickets we can keep raising the price because we know we'll

00:10:13 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 2:

sell them all at four thousand each well 750 this morning you listen to the mojo in the morning show and you have a better chance of winning than actually ever getting a pre-sale ticket so i would make sure that you're listening live to us and if you're not listening live right now and you're listening to this podcast later in the day, tomorrow morning, whatever morning it is, you've got to do it. And let me just also go on record to say this. Our jingle ball with eight artists or nine artists on it started $35. I mean, I have to be honest. I think Taylor Swift is wonderful, and I think that she's mesmerizing. She is not mesmerizing to pay even $1,000 a ticket to go see a Taylor Swift concert. When you can't decide if you're going to actually have a holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving, and you're going out spending that kind of money, I'm going, oh, my God. All right. I will do this. I'll buy the concert on television. Is there any way I can just sit on my couch and the pay-per-views?

00:11:15 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, she added 12 more concert dates this week because she knew it was going to be this popular.

00:11:21 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. If I'm this artist, if I'm Taylor Swift, why not do at least two, if not three nights in every city? It's going to sell You're going to make a butt ton of money And you get to spend more time in each place They hate moving all of the time Spend more time in each city

00:11:36 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 5:

Do you think she will after all this? She's going to sell these high price tickets And then go oh yeah And now I'm going to add more dates

00:11:43 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

00:11:45 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 2:

Do you like that idea better? Like the Harry Styles idea of doing mini residencies in places Or do you think that her coming to the city And at least giving you a chance to see her I don't know I don't necessarily know if I think that that's a good idea.

00:11:58 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 1:

I didn't say if it was a good idea. I think she is still going to add a few more shows here and there. She's going to sprinkle them in.

00:12:03 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 2:

She's only one person. She is playing the biggest venues in all the cities. She's playing Ford Field here. She's doing, you know, the place where the Giants play in New York City, like all the big places.

00:12:15 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 3:

It's a catch-22 because when I saw Harry, he did 15 nights in one city. That's huge. In a big city, in a big stadium, that's a lot of tickets. I love that. But I also understood the privilege that I had that I could fly somewhere and stay in a hotel and take time off of work. And not everybody has that opportunity. So I think when you go to cities and you actually travel the country, it's more accessible to people. But it's also more frustrating because they're usually smaller venues in these towns. So if you're not doing multiple nights, you're just going to gouge the ticket prices anyways and price people out of going. And now it's getting to the point where I used to go to concerts all the time. Now you're picking maybe one show a year. And if you're not getting tickets to the artists that you want to go to, that can be absolutely heartbreaking.

00:12:58 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 4:

There were summers I would go to weekly concerts, and now it's like you have to pick your one or two favorites and just save for those. But I just, going back to Ticketmaster, just cracks me up how they sent out the press release afterwards saying, this was a historically unprecedented, I'm like, no, you knew the exact amount of people that were going to sign into your servers that morning for tickets. So it was the most, it was actually very precedented.

00:13:19 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 2:

Why don't they limit the amount of people that can sign up for a pre-sale to the amount of tickets that they have for the pre-sale? Is it because the sponsor is spending so much money for the pre-sale thing?

00:13:28 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, it's because they want to have every possible fan. They don't want to turn it away. If they could sell out the whole venue in pre-sale, they will. And then everybody else gets shut out. They want to guarantee the fervor and excitement for these tickets. The problem is they just don't have their computers to handle them.

00:13:42 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

Also, how smart is it that they did this? Because everybody was on TikTok Live streaming their Q process. Everybody was talking about it on Twitter. we're talking about it today on the news like this is that good marketing for taylor really huge demand for her shows look at what a big superstar she i don't know i tell you what

00:13:59 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

if i if i went on tiktok and saw everybody crying and being pissed off over the fact that they couldn't get it i mean obviously people's being people are uh pushing their their anger towards

00:14:10 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 4:

ticket master but eventually towards the artists when they get locked out completely next week and realize they're all sold out and they didn't get their tickets it's going to be hungry these are not going to blame Taylor. The best tweet I saw was, if Chick-fil-A was in charge of Ticketmaster's line, we would have had tickets in minutes.

00:14:29 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Text is 95500. It's wild. Yesterday I was getting people that were trying to do this that couldn't get through and get it, asking for tickets, like friends and stuff. And my favorite was the 52-year-old single guy with no kids that asked me for tickets. And I'm like, what do you – he goes, yeah, I want to go see Taylor Swift. And I'm like, oh, okay. Like I was, you know, to each his own, but he's a 52-year-old single guy.

00:15:00 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 3:

He wants to go see Taylor Swift. He likes the music. Let the kids who are crying on TikTok go see the dance.

00:15:05 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, they can't afford it. It was fun. That was the one that called me. That was the one. I'm 51. I like Taylor Swift. I want to go to the concert.

00:15:12 - 00:15:15 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And would you be crying on TikTok if you didn't get through?

00:15:15 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't be crying on TikTok.

00:15:16 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 1:

I cried over Adele tickets. I'm not ashamed. That was so frustrating.

00:15:20 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 3:

Whatever happened, by the way, with that Adele residency? It's happening. I know. Are you going?

00:15:26 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 1:

No, I couldn't get tickets.

00:15:27 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 3:

You couldn't get the tickets.

00:15:28 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 1:

I signed up on seven different devices for eight different shows. But didn't you get lucky?

00:15:32 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 3:

That was God watching over you because they didn't do the show. Yeah.

00:15:36 - 00:15:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but it was supposed to be my dance 60th birthday present.

00:15:38 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 3:

Look at that as a blessing. Your dad doesn't need to go. He can sit on the couch with me again. We can watch the concerts. What's that channel on cable that does the concerts?

00:15:47 - 00:15:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know the name of it.

00:15:49 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 3:

There's that one channel that always has like Coldplay concerts running. Christina, what's happening? Hey, how's it going? Good. What's going? Did you get Taylor Swift tickets? Actually, yes. Me and my daughter did. Oh, wow. Good.

00:16:03 - 00:16:05 | Speaker 4:

And where are you keeping them, and when are you not home?

00:16:08 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 2:

They are very safely secured on our phone.

00:16:10 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how secure that is. Be careful. But question for you, how long did it take you to get the pre-sale tickets?

00:16:17 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 2:

Actually, my daughter got them probably within 20, 25 minutes.

00:16:22 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. So you experienced none of this.

00:16:24 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. However, it crashed as soon as I was in queue to purchase my tickets. I was not able to actually check out. It crashed right when I was checking out. So I didn't get to purchase mine, but she got to purchase hers.

00:16:38 - 00:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, how many tickets do you really need? There's only two of you.

00:16:43 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, she was trying to buy them for her and all her friends. Now she's stuck giving two of her tickets to me and her little sister.

00:16:51 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's nice. You know what? She should. You birthed her. You actually, you know.

00:16:57 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

00:16:58 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 4:

And we know who's paying for them.

00:16:59 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 2:

But I did also read somewhere that they said anybody that actually had the verified code was still going to be able to purchase tickets at some point. I don't know how true it is.

00:17:12 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they put out a press release. They said, well, try again tomorrow. And they don't realize a lot of people stayed home from work and school yesterday to try and get those tickets. So what are you going to do the next day?

00:17:21 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 3:

That's going to actually probably screw then the on sale for everyone on Friday.

00:17:24 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, it is supposed to be that Capital One pre-sale, so I don't think we're allowed for that one because they were different codes. So I'm curious to see how this is actually going to play out to all the people that still have codes that weren't able to use them.

00:17:39 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 3:

How much were your tickets? Because we're hearing that the prices, even here, are kind of expensive for some of the seats.

00:17:45 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 2:

She got the $89 tickets with all the fees and taxes. it came up to $140.

00:17:51 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 1:

Wow, okay. She got really lucky. That is by far the cheapest I've heard. Where is she sitting?

00:17:58 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 2:

I know, isn't that nuts? Oh, we're way up in the nosebleeds. We're up in the $300. Yeah, it'll still be so fun.

00:18:05 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 4:

All right, have a great time. When you hear the Ticketmaster fees almost double and you realize there's not even a human involved in that process. It's so stupid. What's the service you did for the service fees?

00:18:16 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 3:

And again, win free tickets, no service fee. Actually, the only service fee is you have to listen to us. $7.50.

00:18:24 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 5:

This mojo in the morning is back in the day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:18:29 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 3:

Into the Woods became a movie this year starring Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, and Anna Kendrick.

00:18:36 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 5:

Go to the woods! Into the woods without delay.

00:18:41 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 1:

I can't for not to lose the weight.

00:18:43 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 3:

Bruno Mars headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in this year.

00:18:49 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 2:

And the big song from Magic, Rude.

00:19:01 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 5:

What year was this? Prove what a big brain you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:19:23 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 3:

All right. It was all in the same year. Three clues. You know it. We'll set you up with the prize. It's pretty simple. Into the Woods became a movie in this year. Go to the woods. Starring Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, and Anna Kendrick. Bruno. With the halftime performance that got everybody excited. And Rude, the big song. Dylan, what year was that? 2014. It was. What gave it away?

00:19:56 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 4:

It was the Into the Woods, me and my girlfriend and now my wife.

00:20:00 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 1:

I, at the time, went to go see it in theaters. Aw, I love that. We're going to set you up with the prize. I want you to hang on the phone for just one second. Real quick, let me give a quick little plug for these guys because they're very nice people, and we're giving them nice plugs this week. Luca Pastry in Livonia. Sweeten up your Thanksgiving with cakes, cannolis, and cookies from Luca Pastries. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Early. It's crazy, isn't it? It's going to be next week. Yeah, yeah. The whole year has been flying by. I know, it's nuts. Have a great morning, okay? All right. Thank you, too. Hey, text to win tickets right now to go to our Jingle Ball. I want you to text the – let's do LCA. So text LCA where the Jingle Ball will be taking place right now to 95500. And look at your text before you hit send because sometimes it doesn't text that way. All of a sudden it texts like lunar eclipse or something like that. It's like weird stuff that happens. So text LCA right now for a chance to win tickets to Jingle Ball December the 6th. Standard text and data rates do apply. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right. Let's see what's trending in the Dirty on the 30 this morning. Shanna, what you got for us?

00:21:15 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 2:

Well, lots of Taylor Swift in the Dirty today, okay? I'm just going to warn you. So within the span of a couple of weeks, Drake and Taylor both released new albums. So when Taylor's Midnight's was released on October 21st, it nabbed all 10 songs on Billboard's top 10 list, breaking Drake's previous record of nine. It was a big deal. We talked about this in The Dirty. Less than two weeks later, Drake dropped her loss on November 4th and was hoping to at least reach number one on the list and match his previous record, right? Well, after failing to reach that goal, fans created this theory that Taylor edged him out of the top spot on purpose. and fueling the fire, Drake made a subtle post about it on Instagram. So he congratulated 21 Savage in his Instagram story, tagging him and showing off his, Drake's, eight spots on the Billboard Top 10 with Antihero in the top spot and Sam Smith's Unholy at number 10, okay? But where Taylor's number one is supposed to be, Drake put a bunch of emojis to cover up her name and the title of the song. Oh, really? And he left alone Sam Smith's Unholy, Furthering the evidence that Drake did what he did to Taylor Very, very intentionally It was quite obvious Almost immediately, all hell broke loose Between the Swifties and the Drake Stans People calling Drake petty for his post And went as far as to label it misogynistic of him To refuse to give Taylor any credit So here's what people are saying Taylor was sneaky about In how she released Midnight's So the second week after Midnight's was released Many of her top ten songs had dropped down But anti-hero remained at number one. And by this time, Drake's album had already been released but was still too new to break into the list. He was going to have to wait another week. So Drake fans believe Taylor saw this coming. Her people knew what was going to happen. That her number one was absolutely being threatened by Drake's release. So that's why she decided to rush her release of the anti-hero remixes. Still claiming some spots on Billboard's top ten.

00:23:17 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 1:

So Drake will not be opening for Taylor Swift, we're hearing, right?

00:23:24 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 2:

The Grammy noms out yesterday with Beyonce leading with nine nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Dance Album for Renaissance. The new noms, by the way, bring Beyonce's lifetime total to 88 nominations, tying with her husband, Jay-Z, for the most nominations in Grammy history. Kendrick Lamar, by the way, following with eight nominations, including Album of the Year. Adele and Brandi Carlile both have seven noms. Other nominees include Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, Doja Cat's on there, Bad Bunny, and BTS. The Grammy is going down February 5th at Crypto.com Arena in LA. Mariah Carey's attempt to trademark the phrase, Queen of Christmas, has been rejected.

00:24:13 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:24:13 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday, the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appear Board denied her attempt to trademark Queen of Christmas, along with her attempts to lock down the rights to the Princess of Christmas, or Christmas Princess. Alexa, play the Queen of Christmas. That's for kids, remember. All I want for Christmas is you.

00:24:37 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Alexa believes.

00:24:40 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Alexa believes she's the Queen of Christmas. But Mariah applied for those trademarks last year. Right away got backlash from other music legends who said, wait a second, she can't monopolize on the word Christmas. Come on. So she wanted to use it on like perfumes, nail polish, jewelry, ornaments, dog toys.

00:25:00 - 00:25:01 | Speaker 3:

lingerie, whatever she could.

00:25:01 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 2:

I have the title of Sultan of Thanksgiving, so I just want you to know that. And by the way, next week you see my pictures of all the food I eat, you'll realize why.

00:25:13 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, a story for you if you love TikTok. Does that have anything Christmas related? Nothing. Nothing. No? No. Yesterday, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned lawmakers on Capitol Hill that allowing TikTok to continue operating in the States could absolutely pose a threat to national security.

00:25:33 - 00:26:04 | Speaker 1:

Uh-oh. I would say we do have national security concerns, at least from the FBI's end, about TikTok. They include the possibility that the Chinese government could use it to control data collection on millions of users or control the recommendation algorithm, which could be used for influence operations if they so chose, or to control software on millions of devices. which gives an opportunity to potentially technically compromise personal devices.

00:26:04 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. I think there was somebody that told us that a few years ago.

00:26:08 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes, absolutely.

00:26:10 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 2:

I think nobody and everybody thought it was.

00:26:12 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, right.

00:26:13 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:26:14 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 3:

Or people just don't care.

00:26:15 - 00:26:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Do you want all your information given to a foreign entity? No. Thank you. But you'll still be on TikTok.

00:26:25 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 3:

Things I hate, sunburns, manual labor, and hairy lips. Things I love, all these questions on another Senseless Survey on Mojo in the Morning.

00:27:07 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 7:

This is Carol. May I help you?

00:27:08 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 4:

It's Mr. Dabalina from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. I just have a three-second survey for you here. What did you have for dinner last night?

00:27:16 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 7:

What did we have for dinner last night? I had pie, peanut, and fish, basmati rice, and a salad.

00:27:25 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, that sounds good. Did you Facebook it?

00:27:28 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 7:

Do we think something? No.

00:27:29 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 4:

Did you tweet it? No. Did you Instagram it? No. And you said you had dinner last night? Yes. You just ate it. Didn't even share it with anybody.

00:27:40 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:27:41 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 4:

And would you consider yourself beautiful or Dove Soap beautiful?

00:27:45 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 7:

Probably Dove Soap beautiful. All right.

00:27:48 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 4:

And how tall...

00:27:48 - 00:27:50 | Speaker 7:

I've got another phone call coming in.

00:27:50 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Final question then. Would you watch a new TV cop drama called Needle Dicks about two anesthesiologists who were also detectives? Yeah, I would. And if you motorboat a little person, is it called jet skiing?

00:28:00 - 00:28:02 | Speaker 7:

I'm sorry, I have another line calling.

00:28:02 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 4:

If you motorboat a little person, is it called jet skiing?

00:28:06 - 00:28:07 | Unknown:

That doesn't make sense.

00:28:07 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 4:

Doesn't make sense? All right, we'll skip that one. When you stop believing, are you worried that Journey will be mad at you? No. And of all the utensils invented to eat rice with, how did two sticks win?

00:28:19 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. I ate my rice with chopsticks. Where are these questions coming from? From the U.S. senseless bureau. I do have to go. I do have to go. Oh, okay.

00:28:27 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 4:

Bye-bye. If there's anything more disappointing than raisins and carrot cake.

00:28:31 - 00:28:32 | Unknown:

Hey.

00:28:32 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 4:

You still there, ma'am?

00:28:33 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 7:

What?

00:28:33 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 4:

Are you there?

00:28:35 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, he's playing.

00:28:36 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 4:

Hello. Still here. Oh, Mr. Garfield. She really did have another call.

00:28:43 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 2:

I love when people don't get that phone completely. Yeah. Like, they don't actually press.

00:28:49 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes they think it's too rude to hang up on me, so they just leave it there.

00:28:53 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so you're just kind of hanging on there. I like that. That was a senseless survey here on the Mojo in the Morning show.

00:28:59 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 6:

Laugh all you want. We'll get to you eventually. It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's 5 at 6.55.

00:29:09 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 5:

5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, yo, now.

00:29:15 - 00:29:49 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for listening today to Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM. We're going to do the 5 at 6.55. And our reigning champ is Mike. We have a new champion again. We've been one and done in it here. Mike, yesterday was the battle of the – I'm not a really good – I was going to say dummies, but I can't do that. That would be mean. The battle of the – I'm not that great at the 5 at 6.55. Did you study last night, Mike, to prove that you're better at this?

00:29:49 - 00:29:54 | Speaker 7:

I did. I think it was kind of a fluke. We'll see after today if I'm going to get them all wrong.

00:29:54 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Because here's the story. You have to go through a screening process in order to be on the 5 at 655.

00:30:00 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 1:

How did you get through a screening process? I don't know. KP's kind of new. Maybe I slipped his head. Watch it. Watch it. I like that. All right. Well, let's meet your challenger today. It's Katie. Katie, say hello to Mike, the champion. Good morning, Mike. It's going to be a one and done for you today. I love it. All right, here we go. I'm locking you up, Mike, in a soundproof area. You will then have to deal with KP because she's the person you're going to be talking to. Five questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Katie, nice to have you on. It says here you're from Linden. Is that right? That's right. Nice to have you with us. All right, here you go. Question number one. This former Tonight Show host was in his garage when one of his cars suddenly burst into flames, seriously injuring his face. Jay Leno. Question number two, which popular celebrity trivia game show is being slammed by fans for a tasteless clue referring to murderer Brian Laundrie? Oh, gosh. Jeopardy? Question number three, yesterday was a big day in True or False. Yesterday, the presale of Pink's World Tour shut down Ticketmaster's website. False. Question number four. One Tree Hill alum, Jana Kramer, says that she was ghosted by this celebrity after he went to the bathroom immediately after she had a smelly asparagus pee. Ooh. What's the celebrity's name? Three seconds. Chris Evans. And question number five, this neo-Western TV series featuring characters like John Dutton, Beth, and Rip has just shattered ratings, attracting 12.1 million viewers for the season five premiere. That would be Yellowstone. Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. She ain't messing around. Katie got all five right. Oh, great. So you've got to be perfect, buddy, in order to stay our champion, okay? Pressure's on. Question number one. This former Tonight Show host was in his garage when one of his cars suddenly burst into flames, seriously injuring his face. Jay Leno. Press. Scores one to one. Question number two. Which popular celebrity trivia game show is being slammed by fans for a tasteless clue referring to murderer Brian Laundrie? Jeopardy. Correct. Jeopardy. Question number three. True or false. Yesterday's presale of Pink's World Tour shut down Ticketmaster's site.

00:33:00 - 00:33:00 | Unknown:

False.

00:33:00 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

Correct. Three to three. It was Taylor Swift's. Question number four. One Tree Hill alum, Jana Kramer, says that she was ghosted by this celebrity after he went to the bathroom immediately after she had an asparagus pee. Chris Evans. Correct. This guy's rolling along. He may not lose. Maybe he studied. It's all up to this one here, okay? You get this one right? Oh, geez. You've just won your second in a row. You come back tomorrow. Get it wrong? And Katie was absolutely right saying that you were going to be one and done. Question number five. This neo-Western TV series featuring characters like John Dutton, Beth, and Rip has just shattered ratings, attracting 12.1 million viewers to the season five premiere. You're asking for the show name? What's the name of the show? Three seconds. Yellowstone. You got it! Impressive. Did we light a fire in his belly? What just happened? All I do is win, win, win. I'm not a singer, too. Those questions yesterday were kind of tough. You know what? Maybe they were. By the way, real quick. What did KP say to you? uh i said that uh maybe the screening process is a little bit easier now no did kp tell you that she was gonna mess mess you up if you ever try to you know throw her under the bus oh no i wasn't well i'm saying that for her i'm saying that for her good kp good you show you show that uh that guy who's boss around here she's the executive producer of Mojo in the Morning. All right, hang on the phone for just one second, and we'll get you set up with a prize, okay, Katie? Okay, thank you so much, guys. Thank you. It was fun having you on. You've got to play again, because you've got five out of five. You're good. WWE tickets before you can buy them to WWE Smackdown coming to Little Caesars Arena on

00:35:04 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 1:

okay? It's Mojo in the Morning 5 at 6.55.

00:35:13 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. I always find it funny when people will use certain words that are words that you kind of go, oh, I haven't heard that in a while, or That's something that I never would expect out of your mouth Because you seem too young to use a word like that And I think a lot of it is They're old souls Or they were raised by an old soul

00:35:40 - 00:35:54 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes yeah you hear Something so much growing up You start using it and it's generational I can't think of anything right now But I'm sure there's things my dad said That I now repeat to my kids And they probably look at me like whatever you old head What are you talking about

00:35:54 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 2:

We're going to talk in a second here to our good friend Hank Winchester. Help me, Hank, from Local 4 in Detroit. If you've never watched his segments, they're fantastic. But he's doing something very nice for charity. But Spike also wants to call him out for something. So let's let him do the charity plug, and then you'll call him out for something afterwards, okay? Hank Winchester on with us right now. Hi, Hank.

00:36:14 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Hank. Hey, guys. Good morning to all my friends. How you doing? Good morning.

00:36:18 - 00:36:37 | Speaker 2:

Help me, Hank. I love, by the way. Help me. By the way, I love that. I wish, honestly, that TV stations have gotten away from having, like, balls these days, you know? Like, throwing the microphone in people's faces and doing stuff. But you guys over at Channel 4 still are doing that, man. I love it.

00:36:38 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Hey, man, you got to hold the bad people accountable, right?

00:36:40 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 2:

I know. Does it ever get scary, though? Because nowadays people are scary. I think people have voiced that scary.

00:36:47 - 00:36:47 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:36:48 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true. True.

00:36:49 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

True.

00:36:50 - 00:36:56 | Speaker 2:

We just gave them a voice with social media. Now you just have more of a reason to live. You have children now. You know what I mean? Well, that's the thing.

00:36:57 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 3:

I mean, now that you have a daughter, doesn't your family say, like, hey, maybe not bust the bad guys in the parking lot and chase them down in their work truck anymore?

00:37:06 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, I think you just kind of have to gauge the situation, know the invite, play the room a little bit, know where you're standing. So, I mean, obviously, we do whatever we can to keep ourselves safe, but it's all about making sure that we keep the viewers safe. You know what I'm saying?

00:37:19 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 2:

For everybody in Detroit you're listening right now, I want you to go and do something for Hank. Hank, tell everybody where you are right now and how long you're going to be there.

00:37:28 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Thank you so much. We are here in the parking lot of Somerset Collection North, the Macy's parking lot right on Big Beaver. We're collecting toys for cops all day long. So you might be thinking, like, all right, I've heard of this organization for years. Why the huge campaign this year? The reality is, is the need this year, because the economy, the tough times for everybody, it is gigantic. In fact, they're up 35% of requests from families that need help. Yeah, that's not toys.

00:37:55 - 00:37:58 | Speaker 2:

That's requests for toys. That's unbelievable.

00:37:58 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 1:

Exactly, exactly. That's just requests. So we're talking about, that's roughly 100,000 kids in Metro Detroit, and right now they only have about 15,000 toys. So I'm going to be here until 630 today, all day long, new unwrapped toy. If you're one of the first couple of hundred people here, I'm going to give you a gift card to the mall so you can do a little shopping yourself. Oh, I saw those stacks of gift cards on your Instagram.

00:38:20 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

What a great thing to do. Bribery? Yeah.

00:38:24 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 1:

Bribery, right? Bribery. It works. Come on, Shannon. I know you're a shopper, girl. Get out here. Do a little shopping. Trust me. I will be there. I will definitely say hi to you.

00:38:32 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 2:

Again, where are you? Because that's a big place again. You're in the Macy's parking lot or the mall?

00:38:37 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 1:

Right on Big Beaver, the Macy's parking lot of Somerset Collection. north and we had people lined up here at 6 a.m i mean you guys know when you ask your listeners and our viewers for help people turn out in a big way and that's what we're hoping now i know

00:38:51 - 00:38:59 | Speaker 3:

they're gonna go to you for live cut-ins on the news throughout the day and night can if we get there at the right time when the news is going on can we be one of those dummies waving behind you

00:38:59 - 00:39:09 | Speaker 1:

like hi mom spike that's why when we were chatting yesterday i'm like you're gonna you're coming out here today i have to make sure i have a spike moment a live spike moment oh now now i'm gonna

00:39:09 - 00:39:11 | Speaker 3:

I have to wear nice clothes and not a goofy T-shirt.

00:39:11 - 00:39:15 | Speaker 2:

Spike actually wants to give you a moment right now. He wants to call you out for something, Hank.

00:39:15 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Now that we did all the niceties. I think my phone's dying. Yeah. Now that we plugged this wonderful event you're doing, I have to call Hank out because he's a good friend. He's been a good friend for a long time. But how can I tell him to stop calling me pal? Oh, God. He calls all his male friends pal like he's 80 years old.

00:39:35 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 2:

Thanks, pal.

00:39:36 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 3:

See you tomorrow, pal.

00:39:38 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, hey, I see you, pal.

00:39:39 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 3:

How you doing, Aaron?

00:39:40 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you need to do it in that kind of a voice.

00:39:42 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 3:

Like when I hear Hank call me pal, I feel like he's in black and white in a movie. Because that's the last time people said pal.

00:39:50 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

You know what's so funny about that? You know how you pick up sayings from your closest friends? That's from one of my very best friends who's even a...

00:40:00 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 4:

decade younger than me, Sam Martin, who used to be the punter here in Detroit. He calls everyone pal, and for some reason, it's stuck in my head. You're not the first person to call me out. Can I call you? What should I do? Should I, like, is homie okay? No, go to

00:40:16 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 5:

pal. Pal's better. I like pal better. I do bud.

00:40:21 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 4:

Bud's good, yeah.

00:40:23 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 5:

Hey, by the way, later in the dirty, Shannon's going to talk about how your really good friend kelly stafford's calling out the nfl that was a big uh post that she put up yesterday and a lot of people are joining with her including aaron rogers is joining with her so we'll talk about that but real quick most important question pal um homie wait are you getting are you gonna get some chick-fil-a from the uh the food court today are you kidding i'm like are they already

00:40:47 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 4:

open i mean for me it's all about the sauce yeah absolutely because i've heard that they sell kind of a companion product at Costco, but I need the sauce. Kroger's got it. Yeah, Kroger's got the sauce.

00:41:00 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 1:

So Kroger's got the sauce. Costco's got the chicken. That's exactly like the chicken.

00:41:04 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 5:

The problem, though, is it's nothing better than just going through, honestly, and getting a drive-thru. And that peppermint shake is back. Yes, it is. That Christmassy shake is back. Hank Winchester, help me, Hank. He's raising some toys for Toys for Tots. This guy is a great guy. Not only is he spectacular on television, doing things for the community, But for you to spend the entire day in a cold parking lot doing this, you know what? I know you look at your daughter and you say, I could not imagine her not having a toy on Christmas. And the fact that there are kids that may not get toys this Christmas if Toys for Tots doesn't get it. You're an awesome guy, buddy.

00:41:40 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, pal.

00:41:43 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 5:

Talk to you soon, Hank, please. Call us back later this morning if you run. At any time, if you get a slow spurt, call us back and we'll plug it again, okay? All right.

00:41:53 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 4:

Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. Have a good day. We'll see you later today. I'm going to be buying a toy for every time he called me pow on the text chain yesterday, so I'm going to have a lot of toys.

00:42:02 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 5:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:42:05 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:08 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 5:

Are you ready to lie to your mom?

00:42:13 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 1:

Yes. What do you do for a living, Danielle? I work in Dietary Hospital.

00:42:18 - 00:42:20 | Speaker 5:

What kind of mom do you have? Do you have a mom that likes to yell?

00:42:21 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she does. She gets real irate, like, very fast, very fast.

00:42:26 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 5:

All right, well, that's a perfect mom for five lies to tell your mom. We're going to give you five lies. You just got to be able to keep your mom on the phone. If you do, you win a prize for her, okay? Okay. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I got into a confrontation with a patient. Okay. All right, lie number two.

00:42:44 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 1:

Say, she told me to move out of the way, and I told her to shut her fat ass mouth.

00:42:49 - 00:42:53 | Speaker 5:

Lie number three

00:42:53 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 4:

My boss only heard the part About me calling her a fat ass

00:42:57 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 5:

And lie number four

00:43:00 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 2:

I'm on my way to a meeting with my supervisor

00:43:02 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 5:

And lie number five They're going to fire me And I have no idea what to say Have you ever used words like Shut your fat ass mouth

00:43:12 - 00:43:14 | Speaker 2:

I mean I will

00:43:14 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 5:

Let's see if you're a good liar

00:43:19 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:43:20 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to call mom up.

00:43:33 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 3:

Development center. Mom. Huh?

00:43:38 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 2:

Are you around anybody right now?

00:43:40 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 3:

Uh-uh, what's wrong?

00:43:41 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was in a room, and I got into a conversation with one of the patients. Uh-huh. And, like, I set her tray down. She was just, like, real irate. Right. She told me to move on her way, and I'm just, like, stressed out, so I just told her to shut her fat mouth. Why you didn't just leave out the room? Because, ma, she just was tripping, and that's why I just, I'm like, shut her fat ass mouth. And then somehow my boss was on the floor, and the only part she heard was about the fat ass. So what happened? Now I'm on, I'm on my way to a meeting with my supervisor. Okay, just, just tell them you just accidentally said. I know, I mean, I'm scared, I don't know what to do. You scared about what?

00:44:37 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 3:

they they they gonna fire me they're firing me i don't know what to do there's nothing to do it is it is what can i do i'm getting fired okay but then can you just tell them that that that was just the accident but how she hurt me i understand what she heard if they let you go Mom, what am I supposed to do? Ain't nothing you can do but go in there and talk to them people.

00:45:06 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 4:

Is this Danielle's mom? Hi, this is her supervisor. Hi. What kind of a daughter are you raising?

00:45:14 - 00:45:27 | Speaker 3:

No, don't say that. You know what, sir? It's not what kind of daughter I'm raising. She's just been under a lot of stress, and that was a mistake. Danielle never handles herself in that order.

00:45:27 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 4:

She never, you should see her walking around here. She talks like a truck driver.

00:45:33 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 3:

She's just been under a lot of stress. That's all.

00:45:35 - 00:45:38 | Speaker 4:

She's telling a patient to shut her fat ass mouth?

00:45:38 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 3:

No. I just know people get under a lot of pressure sometimes. Sometimes you say things that you don't mean.

00:45:45 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 4:

Like, you're under so much pressure. What did you just do right now, Danielle?

00:45:49 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 3:

Five lives to tell your mom. Huh? You're on the radio, lady. I got you. You got who? You. You just punked me. What the f*** you did?

00:46:06 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mom, this is Mojo in the morning.

00:46:08 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, I love you guys. You just punked me. Nicole, they just punked me. And I always listen to you guys. I love you guys. Forget the punk part. I love Mojo in the morning.

00:46:24 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 2:

Now, how do you listen as much as you do and not know that that's us calling you?

00:46:27 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 3:

Because it didn't sound like Spike. And I'm like, they'll never get me. Oh, my God, they got me.

00:46:35 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Huh? Will you shut your fat mouth for one second so I can talk here? Can you believe your daughter would do this to you?

00:46:43 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

I cannot believe she did this to me. I'm sitting up here worrying. I done developed gas. I'm like, honey, I'm fine. I'm doing that. if you really want to know the truth I tried to keep my composure but I was sick at my stomach

00:47:01 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 4:

did you let a little fart out while you were talking to it

00:47:04 - 00:47:18 | Speaker 3:

I did, I got gas so freaking bad my co-worker is like across the room that is so gross I'm like what are we going to do but I got to keep my cool normally I would have been like what the hell you mean I kept my cool for the first time

00:47:18 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 2:

if it makes you feel any better Mojo let out a little one too What did you really want to tell your daughter?

00:47:28 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 3:

I thought I was going to kick her ass.

00:47:32 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:47:35 - 00:47:35 | Unknown:

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to tell you this My wife is like So into Young Gravy I think it's because

00:50:04 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 2:

And she's hot

00:50:05 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 1:

She realizes I think she realizes As a mom of three boys With you know Two of our Our sons being You know Older guys in their 20s And then Luke 17 It would really bother them If she ran away With a guy that looked like Young Gravy And left her husband And she could I would actually I'll be honest with you If Chelsea left me For like Some guy That was just like Some regular dude from, you know, I don't know, Berkeley. No offense to Berkeley people, but you're just regular dudes.

00:50:36 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 2:

My brother-in-law's queen. I would be like,

00:50:39 - 00:50:42 | Speaker 1:

although your brother-in-law's got some bucks. I'll take him. He's a good-looking guy, too.

00:50:42 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 2:

Does he have some bucks?

00:50:44 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 1:

No offense, Jacqueline. You got yourself a winner there. It's a good one. But if she ran away with Young Gravy, I would be like, this is fantastic. A guy who literally has a velvet pillow, and I know that because I did an interview with him, Oh, I was going to say. You'll hear probably on Monday, the night of the show, or the morning of the show. I did an interview with him. He was laying in his bed the entire interview. A velvet pillow? He has a big old pillow that's the size of the headboard.

00:51:13 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 2:

Like a lumbar pillow. Isn't that what they call those big, long ones?

00:51:17 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 1:

No, it looked like it was made of velvet. I don't know. KP, you were here, and you witnessed it when I was doing the interview. What kind of pillow would that be? It was a big pillow, wasn't it? It was wonderful. It looked like... It was like a body pillow.

00:51:30 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 2:

A body pillow.

00:51:30 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 1:

But it was, here's the thing. It wasn't like long and small. It went across the whole, it was like big, like it looked like it was wild. I'm going to say this to you. If that guy has had any people in that bed with him, there's DNA on that pillow. I promise you. No, that's the part. You don't want a velvet pillow. It was the body count pillow. The body count. Yeah, it was. So did I explain this okay or am I?

00:51:55 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 2:

Just go to Instagram because it's laid out step by step there. It's so easy. sounds more complicated than it really is just it's very easy i'll take you 10 seconds the hardest

00:52:03 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 1:

part honestly is deciding who you're going to be tagging in this and who's the the picture that you're going to use for this so because that's because that's the thing i mean i think there's so many beautiful uh uh women that young gravy would go crazy for and uh does it bother can i ask this question of uh you know all the the ladies on the show does it bother you that he shows love to women who are older than you

00:52:27 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 2:

guys are. No, it makes me hopeful.

00:52:30 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 1:

Like, it makes you hopeful?

00:52:31 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, for the future, somebody. I just think it's, he's not discriminating.

00:52:36 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 1:

KP, do you find that Young Gravy bothers you, that he doesn't like 23-year-olds

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 2:

like yourself? Not one bit.

00:52:42 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 1:

Okay, you're good with the vet. What would you do if your mom ran away with Young Gravy?

00:52:47 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 2:

It would not be my mom, it would be somebody else.

00:52:50 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 1:

Why? Why? Your mom would not be into Young Gravy? No, I I really don't think that she's about the young guys. Yeah. Well, you know what? You never know. I didn't think Chelsea was either until I realized how much she was into young gravy. Such a smart move for him. Like, he's doing it. Like, that's his move. That's his shtick. Yeah, yeah. It is. I'll be honest with you. You notice the women that he's with are all, like, rich, hot ones, like Martha Stewart. Yeah, to get him to press. Yeah, that's, like, the greatest. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. So Shannon has a little bit of a beef with her family members over something that they're doing to her boyfriend, Wes. And are they doing it purposely? I don't know. Is it a snub? It came about because of your mom, right?

00:53:36 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 2:

It came about because of my mom. So I've been dating my boyfriend now for over a year, okay? He's been around. He's hung out with my family. They love him more than me, or so I thought. because the other day my boyfriend, his name is Wes, called my mom to ask her some sort of question. I don't know if it had to do with a Christmas gift or whatever. He wouldn't really tell me. But asked my mom or called my mom to ask her a question. And she answered the phone call, who is this? And she's like, and he goes, you mean to tell me? We've been on text chains. I've texted you. We're in group text. And you never saved my number. I just gave her so much crap about it. Well then, speaking of my brother-in-law Who lives in Berkeley, Ryan He sent Ryan a text message About something recently To which my brother replied Thanks so much, Connor I appreciate that, hope you have a great day My boyfriend's name's not Connor Once again, it's Wes So he is just wondering If my family even likes him at this point Because nobody Has saved his number My brother-in-law, when he finally called out My brother-in-law, he was like oh he did the I just got a new phone and I thought it was something I thought it was one of my employees which is bullcrap I love you Ryan maybe maybe Shannon don't don't uh I got well I got to

00:54:57 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

be truthful with you okay maybe it's not so much about Wes it's

00:55:00 - 00:55:20 | Speaker 2:

about you maybe maybe what do you mean maybe they want to know that you are fully committed to him before they're committed to him and putting him in the phone oh i see okay you know what i mean like maybe there's has there been any flags that you have shown up of the fact that because you always you do this whole thing we're not dating we're you know we're going on what was it what

00:55:20 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 3:

was in the beginning when we first started dating that is true it was but there was no label on us

00:55:24 - 00:55:31 | Speaker 2:

we were just we were going on nondas shannon was like shannon was like don't give me a label don't Give me a boyfriend. I would say, yeah, Shannon, your new boyfriend.

00:55:31 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 3:

Don't, he's not my boyfriend. He wasn't my boyfriend yet.

00:55:33 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 2:

He's a coffee partner. Yes. I forgot that you said that in the beginning.

00:55:37 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I didn't know if I liked him yet.

00:55:40 - 00:55:57 | Speaker 2:

I was calling him your boyfriend right at the start because he's a boy and he's a friend, and that's okay. It's all right to do. Maybe they're also getting that sense, too. So here's the thing. You've got to say to everybody, it's now for you to commit to your iPhone or whatever, your Android, and put him in your contact.

00:55:57 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 3:

Contact. Maybe give him a picture.

00:56:00 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 2:

You know. I love it. I have Wes saved in my phone. He texted me, and I didn't have his number, and I didn't know who it was. And I said, hey, is this Connor?

00:56:09 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, now my family just calls him Connor because they all think it's funny.

00:56:12 - 00:57:00 | Speaker 2:

Actually, you know how I got his number? He sent me a DM on my Facebook because we were friends on Facebook. And he said, basically, I don't have your number. You don't have my number, but here's my number. And I thought, oh, my God, I got another guy's number. Oh, wow. Did he send you a D-pic, too? So I say, no, he has not. That is wrong. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I think the way that we go on this topic is I think that we ask this question of, one, family members and when do the family, have the family members ever, like, you know, what was the sign that they, you know, kind of shunned them or didn't commit to them? Like, you know, this one is obviously a joke because all it is is the phone situation, but maybe there's something more. But then the other one is.

00:57:00 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 3:

But maybe there's something more.

00:57:01 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 2:

Maybe there's, you know. But the other one, the other topic idea with this one is the little subtle things that they do that make me feel like.

00:57:10 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:57:11 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 2:

Like, oh, that gives me sadness right there. You didn't even put me in your phone. Future possible mother-in-law. Ooh, does that make you sound weird when I say future mother-in-law? You know what I think?

00:57:23 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 3:

I got to ask him. I don't know if he's listening right now. I think he has my mom in his phone as future mother-in-law.

00:57:28 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Hang on. I'm going to ask him. How does that make you feel? Good. Oh, I like it. Ew. Your cheesy smile was genuine happiness. I know. I know. But she's come a long way. I'm telling you, she's come a long way. Because I went to dinner with them in June or July or whatever it was. And she was like, you know, still, you know, whatever. And now, maybe a Christmas proposal.

00:57:57 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 3:

Mojo put all his money on me. He's going to lose that bet in two months.

00:58:00 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 2:

I know.

00:58:00 - 00:58:02 | Speaker 3:

When she comes in wearing a ring.

00:58:02 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 2:

I know. Carlos? Yes. What's happening? What's going on, buddy?

00:58:08 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 1:

What's going on? Good morning. It's my first time calling. Always listening.

00:58:12 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, you know what then we have to do? We have to do something special for you. What can we do for you? Hold on. Hold on. it's carlos's first time calling the show what would you like us to do would you like anything i mean what can you do i don't know he's like you tell me your comment about this and if it's

00:58:31 - 00:59:10 | Speaker 1:

good enough i might do something crazy okay so i've been in this like same situation like i was a guy right so if your family hasn't stored his number that means they don't like him really oh man because because because i was in the same situation similar and i was told yes the parents don't like me at least one of them right yeah and it was and it was the dad and like the you know how sometimes you got the sister that's like mom right what did they what did they

00:59:10 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 2:

not like about you carlos you sound like a likable guy i don't know because i'm like the coolest person in the world you sound very humble carlos there wasn't anything in your past you weren't

00:59:23 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 1:

ever you know uh no unfaithful or what happened was what happened was the reason why the dad you You know, the mom didn't like me because her mom liked me.

00:59:37 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

00:59:39 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 1:

I'm not following you.

00:59:39 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 2:

Wait, did mom like you like you or just like you as a person?

00:59:42 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, no, no. She liked me like once. Oh, okay.

00:59:45 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right. That's interesting. Chelsea's dad didn't like me either. So I get it. I totally understand it. And I don't have anything for you. I apologize. I gave you the little sound effect. What's up, Emily?

00:59:58 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going?

01:00:00 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 6:

It's going good. What do you think?

01:00:02 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 5:

So, Shannon, don't worry about it. But I got to say, my dad still calls my fiancé my friend. We've been together four years, get married next year, and he finally called him his son-in-law this summer. Wow. And I'm pretty sure his number isn't saved in his phone, so don't worry.

01:00:23 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's good. That is so good. Hold on a second. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Michael, hi. How are you doing? Or Michelle, I'm sorry. Michelle? Yes. Hey, what's up?

01:00:34 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 3:

Hi. My parents, this was a few years ago, did not like my ex. They made it very clear. They put his number in, just don't answer whatever he would call. Wow.

01:00:47 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 6:

And you said ex, he was a bad guy?

01:00:51 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 3:

We broke up within a year. He wasn't a good guy. He didn't like the fact that I had five brothers. They don't like him either. Yeah.

01:00:58 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 6:

Interesting. Robin, what's going on? Mojo on the morning show.

01:01:03 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo. Hey, guys. You have to remember, you have kids, so their loyalty lies with your ex-husband.

01:01:09 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 6:

Really? I don't necessarily think that. I think that they can have both. They can like both.

01:01:14 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I hope. Yeah, well, but, I mean, it's still kind of new, so they're like, well, we don't want to, you know, diss the ex-husband because she has kids and we always have to deal with him, and Wes may not be in the picture forever.

01:01:26 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 6:

Well.

01:01:27 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 1:

Whoa. Whoa. Do we forget about the cheesy, genuine, happy smile? Exactly. Don't break it down. I bring things down around here. Stop it.

01:01:34 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 6:

No. Hi, Anita. I got you, Shannon.

01:01:39 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 4:

I got you. Hi.

01:01:42 - 01:01:42 | Speaker 6:

What's happening?

01:01:42 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 4:

Sorry. So my husband did not get a Christmas present from my aunt and uncle until we got married.

01:01:52 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 6:

Well, they wanted to make sure.

01:01:54 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 4:

And they loved him.

01:01:55 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 6:

Did you go with him?

01:01:55 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 4:

They really liked him and everything.

01:01:57 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 6:

Did you date a lot? Maybe that's the thing. Maybe that you had a lot of boyfriends or something?

01:02:02 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 4:

Not really. I only brought... He was only the second one I brought around my family. Yeah. The one before that didn't last long very long after that.

01:02:14 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's the reason why. So maybe they were just holding out. It's the one before that. Hi, Kelly. It's Mojo on The Morning Show. We're talking about how Shannon's family hasn't programmed her boyfriend's name and number into the phone.

01:02:25 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. So, sorry, my uncle, this is about my uncle, my cousin. My uncle was, rest in peace, God rest his soul, the most raunchy, sarcastic, once human being you could ever imagine. Like, anything would come out of his mouth, and he did not care.

01:02:45 - 01:02:45 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:02:45 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 4:

And so, my cousin, who didn't really, like, he didn't really date around. He was never a player, nothing like that. He had his heart broken a couple times, but there was a time where he was kind of, like, dating around, and he brought a girl home to meet the family, and it was at a family gathering and everything, and my uncle looked at her straight up, said it, like, very serious, and told her, if you are still here in three months, I will get to know you.

01:03:15 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, God, wow. Wow, blatant. Yeah.

01:03:19 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and they actually came to find out that they were together for a long time.

01:03:24 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, wow.

01:03:26 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 4:

But, yeah, that just, like, she was so serious. Like, nope, I mean, if you're still here in three months, I'll get to know you. But until then, like. That is harsh.

01:03:35 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 6:

I want Wes to not feel bad because I feel like some of these calls could make him feel bad. Wes, don't feel bad. He's in the shower. It's all good. Here's the deal, Wes.

01:03:43 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 4:

But he does have my mom saved as future mother-in-law. I asked him.

01:03:47 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 6:

Amanda's family is way worse than anything that Shannon's family could do to Wes. What's that, Amanda?

01:03:54 - 01:03:55 | Unknown:

Hi, everyone.

01:03:55 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 4:

I love the show. I listen to it every morning. Thank you. You too. Thank you. I've been with my boyfriend, Zach, for five years now, and my family still spells his name wrong.

01:04:08 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 6:

And any truth to the rumor? It says up here that your boyfriend's been there for five years. Do they actually, they not only say his name wrong or spell his name wrong, but also do they not program his number in the phone too?

01:04:24 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 4:

No, they have his number in their phone. Is it in there wrong?

01:04:29 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Okay.

01:04:30 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh yeah. I think so.

01:04:32 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 6:

Oh my gosh.

01:04:33 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 4:

It's over the C-A-C and some of them spell it with C-A-C and some of them spell it C-A-C-K. What? It's a card and it's just a, it's a whole thing.

01:04:42 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 6:

See, that's not, see that? That's worse. They don't even know how to spell his name Alright, Mojo in the Morning Show

01:04:48 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30

01:04:52 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 6:

We're going to do the Dirty on the 30 right now And we do have the Taylor Swift tickets coming up With the phone scam at 7.50 What's out?

01:05:00 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 5:

Actress Denise Richards, former real housewife, was shot at during a road rage incident on Monday in L.A. We're just getting details about this. She was heading to a film and TV studio in a Ford Shelby F-150 pickup truck with her husband Aaron, who had slowed down. They were looking for some street parking when a passing motorist just opened fire. What?

01:05:21 - 01:05:46 | Speaker 4:

Now to breaking news. Actress Denise Richards and her husband were involved in a road rage incident that resulted in gunfire. It happened yesterday when Richards and her husband were trying to find parking. The driver behind them was getting irritated, shouting at them, and trying to get by them. That's when the other driver shot at Richards and her husband. No one was hurt, and it's not clear if Richards and her husband filed a police report.

01:05:46 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that crazy? It's because they were going slow, looking for parking. Casey Anthony, you guys remember that name in that story, right? Yeah, she's the one that killed her daughter, right, Kaylee? Well, allegedly, and she's now hinting that her dad may have killed her little girl, Kaylee. This was a big news story back in 2011. Everybody was just laser focused on that murder trial. And during it, Casey accused her dad of covering up what she had originally said was the accidental drowning death of her two-year-old daughter, Kaylee. Well, now there's a new docuseries about this. It's called Casey Anthony, Where the Truth Lies. It debuts on Peacock at the end of the month. Casey's never told her story. Did she murder her daughter? Casey, interview?

01:06:30 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

What do you think my question is going to be?

01:06:35 - 01:06:38 | Speaker 4:

Why did I wait 31 days to call 911?

01:06:39 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 1:

Did you do everything in your power to protect your daughter?

01:06:42 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 3:

The public thought that Casey didn't want to be a mother. The whys make you think that she did murder this child. It's not the Casey that I knew.

01:06:51 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 4:

She loved that child. Let her throw and lie. But no one asked why.

01:07:03 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 5:

She said she lied. What she lied about, rather, was that her estranged dad, George, staged Kaylee's drowning because he may have been sexually abusing Kaylee as Casey claimed that he and her brother did to her. That docuseries begins streaming. Is her dad still alive? November 29th, again, on Peacock. Google that.

01:07:23 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 2:

I wonder, because he could have legal action if he was putting this out there.

01:07:28 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and she told the whole story of that day. I mean, it's just a crazy story. And now details coming out after the fact. I mean, 11 years later.

01:07:37 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 3:

George Anthony is his name?

01:07:38 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Still alive?

01:07:41 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:07:41 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 5:

12 hours ago, he was spotted. Wow. Wow.

01:07:44 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Interesting how wonderful to come out and speak.

01:07:47 - 01:07:54 | Speaker 5:

Big news yesterday. former President Donald Trump launching his 2024 re-election campaign during a speech at his

01:07:54 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 1:

Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for President of the United States. Fun fact, if he gets re-elected,

01:08:05 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 5:

he would become only the second president to win non-consecutive terms after Grover Cleveland way back in the late 1800s. Rams quarterback and former Detroit Lion Matthew Stafford, his wife Kelly, posting a message to the NFL on her Instagram yesterday about the league's handling of injuries. And this time, the message wasn't regarding something that happened to Matthew, but instead his teammate, Cooper Cup, after it was announced that he would undergo surgery for a high ankle sprain. He's going to be placed, excuse me, on the injured reserve list, meaning he's going to miss at least the next four weeks. Well, Kelly's post referred specifically to poor playing services. She wrote, NFL, do something. Show that you want to make it better for future generations. Saying it doesn't matter what these men play on is complete negligence on your part. And this conversation surrounding turf fields has been a hot topic this season as numerous players and coaches have voiced their opinions about the dangers of playing on artificial turf. And I know you said Aaron Rodgers came out yesterday and was talking about this as well.

01:09:10 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 3:

Said there's been so many injuries. How does the league, you know, they don't want concussions. But yet they're still playing on a surface that is much harder than playing on natural grass. And I think a lot of the cases is that they like the looks of what natural grass looks like. And then people obviously not slipping and sliding all over the place. Because sometimes the, you know, rail turf actually causes that. But you wear spikes. It's like a good old-fashioned football.

01:09:35 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 5:

What's the pros of doing turf? Like, why is that?

01:09:37 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 3:

Turf injuries are more, there's more injuries if you look at it.

01:09:41 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 5:

What's the pro of having artificial turf? It looks good. It looks better. It looks perfect. It looks better.

01:09:46 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 3:

The owners don't have to maintain it as much.

01:09:48 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 5:

Shut up, NFL. These are people's bodies.

01:09:50 - 01:09:56 | Speaker 3:

And also indoor stadiums, too. But there's ways to do it. There's stadiums that have indoor, and they have real grass.

01:09:57 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. And Megan, I know you'll be as excited as I am.

01:10:00 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 4:

about this. It is happening. Confirmed. Disney is developing a third Princess Diaries movie. What? Here's the thing, though. What? Nobody will say if Anne Hathaway is going to reprise her role as Mia Thermopolis. She said in the past she very much wants to do it, but I haven't heard that she is confirmed. And same for Julie Andrews. Not sure if she's going to be involved. They have to, or else it doesn't count. Yeah, they have to. But, I know. They are making the movie. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on thejournthemorning.com.

01:10:28 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 2:

This is the home We'll do Dirty on the 30. Fault Cams and War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

01:10:34 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 1:

Jingle Ball tickets for Chelsea. You're a winner.

01:10:39 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Yay.

01:10:41 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations to you. I want you to hang on the phone because we'll get some information from you. You just picked up tickets to our Jingle Ball December the 6th. Who are you most excited to see?

01:10:51 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 3:

I think Khalid and the Backstreet Boys.

01:10:54 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 1:

They're going to be so good. There's so many songs. You know, it's funny. I was looking at this. usually you go to festivals and artists that are there might have like one song or two songs that are hits multiple artists on this uh you know this uh jingle ball have like more than five or six really popular songs so it's going to be amazing it's honestly it's going to be a timing thing like i think that's going to be the biggest issue that we will have that's why we're gonna have to start the show so early but december the 6th you don't have to pay for the tickets congratulations to you thank you so much you're so welcome hang on the phone and we'll get you set up okay all right thank you all right it is mojo in the morning show uh we have taylor swift tickets coming up in moments so don't go anywhere it's funny we were having a discussion uh me and brian from uh red robin you guys met brian when he came in the studio and we were having a discussion about i think everybody on this show has worked in a restaurant once in or twice or three times in their lives, right?

01:11:54 - 01:11:58 | Speaker 5:

I think everybody should just to have empathy for what the service industry is all about.

01:11:59 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 1:

I was a busboy and an appetizer cook at a restaurant called Hackney's. I used to have to make the onion loaves along with the fried mushrooms. And you know how those restaurants would have like fried mushrooms? They were so good. They were so good. Yeah, and they would serve it in like a big old basket with like ranch dressings and stuff like that.

01:12:20 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh my God.

01:12:22 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 1:

And then I was a busboy, too. I know, Shannon, you were a hostess.

01:12:25 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 4:

I was a hostess, yeah.

01:12:26 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 1:

Spike, you worked at Burger King, right?

01:12:28 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I did a lot of fast food.

01:12:30 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 1:

Mike, where did you work? I worked at a pizza place, so I delivered pizzas. I worked at fast food, busboy.

01:12:38 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 4:

Were you McDonald's?

01:12:39 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's, yeah.

01:12:40 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 4:

McDonald's, yeah.

01:12:41 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 1:

And Megan, famously, you worked at Red Robin.

01:12:44 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 3:

And I did everything there from cleaning the kitchen to I was an expediter, a hostess. What is an expediter? I took the food, so when you are a server, you fill out tickets, and then the kitchen cooks it, and then the expediter stands in between the kitchen and the servers, and then we assemble everything, finish everything, and then organize it, and then send it out. So, I did that, and I was the Red Robin. I was the mascot. You were the mascot. Oh, my God. How was it in that costume?

01:13:12 - 01:13:13 | Unknown:

So hot.

01:13:14 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 3:

So hot. Dancing on Monroe Street in the middle of summer, two hours every Saturday.

01:13:19 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 1:

So Brian and I were having a discussion, and these guys have given a large amount over the years to breaking in every Christmas wish, but this year they want to give more than ever. So he said, hey, you know, I want to be able to give you guys even more money than I'm already going to be giving you. And an idea came about, and I thought, oh, my God, this would be so much fun because it would be us in a place where we could eat unlimited amounts of food. I already like it.

01:13:44 - 01:13:44 | Speaker 4:

I already like it.

01:13:44 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 1:

Have some of the best beer on tap, Spike, for you, and milkshakes for me. So we talked about the idea that all of us will get back into a restaurant, we'll work at a Red Robin, and—

01:13:59 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 5:

One night only, though. I don't want a permanent shift.

01:14:02 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Well, if our bosses don't like us, who knows? Maybe that will be our future. We'll have to depend on Brian. And the idea was that they would give the, you know, the benefits of that night to breaking and entering Christmas wish so that we can grant more wishes for families.

01:14:18 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 4:

I love it so much.

01:14:19 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 1:

And so hold on. I want to see if I can call him up. I was talking to him yesterday. And I want you guys to look at your calendars because the idea was that we would do it like the first week of December. So do it. I think it is. Hold on. I'm trying to think of what the date is. What's the Thursday of December? It's December 1st. December 1st, perfect. First day of December. Yeah. So I'm going to call Brian real quick from Red Robin.

01:14:44 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 3:

You know how much I love you. I love working here, and I appreciate you. It's Brian.

01:14:49 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes, Megan. Hold on, Brian, one second. Megan's going to tell me something here that's going to – go ahead, Megan.

01:14:55 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 3:

My favorite job is still at Red Robin.

01:14:57 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 1:

Really? Did you hear that, Brian? Really? Really. Megan says – Even working here, her favorite job was working at Red Robin in Sylvania.

01:15:04 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, in Toledo on Monroe Street.

01:15:05 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 1:

In Toledo on Monroe Street, yeah. So, Brian.

01:15:09 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

01:15:09 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. We're discussing right now our conversation, and we're discussing with the listeners. December the 1st, that evening, the Mojo in the Morning Show is going to be working at Red Robin. And do we have a location that you would choose that would be a convenient one and one that the listeners might be able to get to?

01:15:27 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 2:

yes we're gonna do uh liz and her team at the south gate red robin south gate red robin okay

01:15:36 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 1:

we got a lot of listeners around the road right on your oh my god that's gonna be perfect that will be actually a good for everybody but uh the people in grand rapids they'll have a chance to see us but we're gonna do something cool for everybody else uh in other cities you know or they can't get to us if you can't get to us from toledo or you can't get to us from east side of detroit or whatever uh or grand rapids we're going to do something cool too but we're all going to wait tables that day and megan's going to be the red robin mascot did you guys find the

01:16:04 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 2:

costume yes we found the mascot and we're excited megan you could bring back the old memories of being around monroe street in 100 degree weather it'll be great i'm so glad you found it i'm so

01:16:21 - 01:16:25 | Speaker 3:

sorry that you're not going to be keeping it that long because once I get it, I'm stealing it.

01:16:27 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny, Megan, is that I've heard that from probably four people as far as, you know, if Megan sees the costume, you're never going to see it again.

01:16:38 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 3:

100%.

01:16:39 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 1:

Brian, do you have jobs that would be perfect for all of us? Because you seem to believe that me sticking in the kitchen, it was a good job for me, but what about for everybody else on the show? Where do you see You know, like Shannon and Spike And Mike and Reese And everybody I think I would excel as a host That's my job

01:16:58 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 2:

Actually Spike Talking to the people you work with You're going to be behind the bar Oh, that's a good one Oh, now he's happy One for you One for me Two beers for you Can I sing the happy birthdays Oh, Joe, you are not cooking, so we're just going to leave it at that. Good, okay.

01:17:23 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 1:

I can wait tables. I think I'd be great. The only problem is I talk to people too much.

01:17:27 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 2:

You're going to wait tables. Yeah. We are going to have, let's see, Megan, you're going to be the ringleader driving and directing everybody. I know all about the three-foot rule. Shannon, you're going to be helping run food and take care of the guests. Okay. I think Mike and Reese, they wanted to put you as a dishwasher, but I said, you know, we could probably do something a little bit better for them. So, we're going to throw an apron on you and see how you do taking care of our guests that are in the restaurant. I love it. So, Liz down and her team, they're going to be really excited to take care of you. It's going to be a great event. It's going to be so much fun.

01:18:07 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, so December the 1st, this is going to be our – we need you to come out. We want you guys to come have a good meal, and we're going to raise more money for Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. It's going to be at the Red Robin off of Eureka Road in Southgate, and we're getting back to our roots of working in a restaurant. Megan specifically is getting back to her roots roots of actually getting in the Red Robin costume. And it's going to – honestly, it's going to be so much fun. And, Brian, thank you for the support that you guys have given us for so long. Anytime we've ever asked you for meals for listeners, you've been more than happy to do that. And I know that your staff is awesome, too. So we love you guys so much. We appreciate you so much.

01:18:47 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 2:

This is going to be for a great cause. And what a great year to do this. And so we're excited to partner with you. So it's going to be a lot of fun.

01:18:55 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, buddy. I'll talk to you soon, okay?

01:18:57 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 2:

All right. Talk to you later.

01:18:58 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 1:

All right. It's going to be fun. It's going to be fun. I like, you know, it's funny is I've done like bartender, you know, charity fundraisers and stuff for Killer Kowalski. And I have such a good time getting in there. The service industry, it's funny, the people that work there, they love the fact that we're recognizing them. But if you're in the service industry, you bust your ass. You work harder than anybody. You know what I mean? So, I mean, we appreciate all that you guys have been through. Taylor Swift, yesterday was a fiasco trying to get some pre-sale tickets. Now you don't have to fight so hard. You just got to be the 95th caller. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. It's the Mojo in the Morning Show. It is your home of the phone scams. Spike is going to call the movie theater to scam the new assistant manager. Can he get a refund?

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 2:

fun just because he didn't like the movie. Let's find out with a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:20:05 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scans. Mojo in the Morning.

01:20:18 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 6:

7, this is McKenna speaking. How can I help you?

01:20:21 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 5:

Hi, McKenna. This is Lee. Did Dennis tell you that I'd be calling? I'm sorry, who is it? My name is Lee Saffranks, and he told me I had to talk to you about a refund.

01:20:36 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'd be happy to help you with that. Can you tell me what happened?

01:20:39 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 5:

Me and my caregiver saw a movie that was just trash. It was so horrible. The worst I've seen in two years. Anyway, he said you'd LMK.

01:20:50 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 6:

Um, LMK?

01:20:52 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, let me know.

01:20:54 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 6:

Let you know about a refund?

01:20:56 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:20:57 - 01:20:58 | Unknown:

What, I'm sorry, what happened?

01:20:59 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 5:

We didn't like the movie. Waste of time.

01:21:03 - 01:21:08 | Speaker 6:

I'm so sorry. I can't give you a refund just because you didn't care for the movie.

01:21:08 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 5:

I'm really sorry. STFU. What kind of policy is that? I mean, IMHO, if a customer was not satisfied, you don't pay for the movie. And TBH, it was a terrible movie. We were not satisfied.

01:21:23 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 6:

You know, the choice of movies isn't up to us. If it was a customer service issue or something like that, I'd be happy to help you with that. But unfortunately...

01:21:31 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 5:

So you're fine with taking people's hard-earned money for a bad product?

01:21:36 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I don't know which movie it was, but just because you didn't like it doesn't mean that other people didn't like it.

01:21:42 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 5:

My butt was asleep and so was I. It was horrible.

01:21:47 - 01:21:52 | Speaker 6:

I can't give you a refund just because you didn't like the movie. I'm really sorry. D-A-E-C?

01:21:53 - 01:22:07 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. I don't know what that means. Did anyone else complain? No, not yet. We haven't had any complaints so far. Well, I'm complaining. Put me down as the first one and just refund on my MasterCard, please.

01:22:08 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 6:

I can let Dennis know that you didn't like the movie, but you did buy a ticket and sit in your seat and take up a seat that someone else could have sat.

01:22:17 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 5:

Also, BTW, the popcorn was really stale, and I don't know if it was made the day before or something, IDK, but I'd like my money back for that, too.

01:22:28 - 01:22:29 | Unknown:

Did you eat the popcorn?

01:22:29 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, of course. I was watching a movie. Did you say anything at the counter about it being stale? I said something to my friend Agnes. I said, this movie, Popcorn, is horrible as the movie.

01:22:41 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 6:

And the house streaker, can you guess which member of the Mojo in the Morning show likes to be naked and is upset because they can't now? So we'll talk about that coming up in like the next 30 to 40 minutes here on the Mojo in the Morning show. I saw this and I thought that this was really interesting. Have you guys heard of reverse catfishing? I was reading this about this, and it was crazy. So online catfishing is when a person exaggerates about how attractive they are. Matter of fact, sometimes they even, like, pose as a completely different person, maybe even a different person of a different sex. And they will get into your, you know, dating life or through dating apps. And next thing you know, you're online. and you're talking to what you think is going to be this person, that turns out to not be them. It's completely, you know, fake. Reverse catfishing, though, is a little bit different. Reverse catfishing operates in the opposite direction when you're trying to come off less attractive than you really are. For instance, you upload a few photos that are really unflattering, like unflattering angles to create an illusion that you've got a double chin or a beer belly. And then when you match or meet up with the people on the first date, He or she will feel like they hit the jackpot, making you look like the find of your life.

01:27:51 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 2:

That is very interesting. Are people doing that?

01:27:54 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 1:

They say that that's now become, according to this online dating, avoid the catfish guy, Kevin Dame. I was reading this story that was post. I think it might have been Wall Street Journal or something like that that did a thing with him. He said that this has become like a bigger thing these days. And what he's found out is that the people who are doing the reverse catfishing are finding, like, better people because they're not finding the superficial.

01:28:18 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say they're not as absorbed with the physical appearance. I love posting bad photos of myself.

01:28:25 - 01:28:30 | Speaker 3:

It brings me so much joy when I look absolutely awful. I just think I'm an idiot.

01:28:31 - 01:28:32 | Speaker 1:

Does that, does.

01:28:32 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

But do you do that on dating? Are you on a dating app again? Yeah. I kind of re-downloaded Hinge. You did? Yeah. Not on there. And I'll be really honest, I took a very, I thought it was hysterical photo of myself at a restaurant recently. And I was sitting with a napkin like tucked into my collar and a fork on a knife like pounding on the table. And I had this crazy expression on my face and immediately went, crap, I'm trying to get on Love is Blind. I got to take this down. They're going to think I'm weird. So I archived a whole bunch of posts, but usually they're posted up there.

01:29:03 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 1:

Did you?

01:29:03 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't think it works in my favor though.

01:29:04 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 1:

Did you find anybody? No. No?

01:29:07 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 3:

Nobody likes me.

01:29:07 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 1:

So I have to, but I have to tell you, like, it takes guts to do this reverse catfishing because you're.

01:29:16 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 2:

Because you always want to put your best foot forward. Yeah.

01:29:18 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 1:

And if you are good looking, I mean, I guess if you got a lot of stuff to offer, you know, as far as like, you know, what you think that you can, even if your bad angle is a good angle, so to speak. But I have like four pictures in my life that I've taken that I actually think are good pictures. There are four pictures. Matter of fact, if you're friends with me on social media and my personal Facebook, my profile picture is the only picture of me that I thought was a really good picture, and I'll never take it down. I will be 80 years old, and they'll say, why do you have your picture from when you were, you know, 42 up on your thing?

01:29:53 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 2:

Is that going to be your funeral pic? I always tell my friends, use this as my funeral pic. On the easel, use this one. Chelsea and the boys in those montage photos that they do. You know how people put poster board pictures?

01:30:06 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, now they do them on the screen in the funeral homes.

01:30:09 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 1:

I want the collage, old-fashioned collage.

01:30:11 - 01:30:17 | Speaker 2:

If they do it on the screen, it's got to be the only picture on the screen. And it's got to be on the funeral card that they give you at the end.

01:30:17 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. You know what I want? The ones I keep in my car.

01:30:18 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 2:

They're going to be like, he died so young.

01:30:20 - 01:30:21 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:30:21 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Mine has a college graduation cap on.

01:30:24 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 4:

My mom schedules my last fill appointment. Yeah! on the screen i just want a qr code to my instagram you can go see what oh my god very

01:30:34 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

well curated got so tad nicole this is genius though because i i'm thinking about this and you you you're still you get even if you're putting up less than flattering photos of yourself right like not not the best of the best photos that you have in most of these dating app situations and correct me if i'm wrong you you're still getting to pick who you're going out on a date with yeah yeah so the people doing this really are genius because you're still getting to go on a date with like the guy that you want but it it makes sense that like you're going to show up yeah be like oh wait a minute gotcha yeah has anybody done that it's like under what's the saying under promise over deliver yes that's right it's that so that's kind of like what you're doing

01:31:22 - 01:31:39 | Speaker 2:

like really you know with uh with your looks has anybody ever had that happen to them where they've gone and they've met up with somebody and they're like holy crap this person is so much more attractive in person and you wonder now after hearing about reverse catfishing if that was

01:31:39 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 4:

something that they were trying to do hi amber tell me that i looked way better in person than my pictures and i don't really compliment or not that no i think it is no i think that's i think

01:31:48 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 2:

that i would take that as a compliment uh kp i would say that all right all right i i can i say this i hate people like kp though i'm gonna tell you why i hate them because they are they look good all the time and i know that listen if you haven't seen what kp looks like stunning it's disgusting stunning it is absolutely freaking disgusting she's good looking in person she's Good looking on social media.

01:32:14 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 4:

We hate her.

01:32:15 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 2:

We can't stand her.

01:32:16 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 4:

We hate her.

01:32:17 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 1:

But you also know KP will be the first to admit that she doesn't wake up that way. She has the lashes and the extensions. I don't know.

01:32:25 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 2:

She made a comment to me the other day. She's like about how I just rolled out of bed and I came in. I'm going, you look better than when I actually go get a haircut and do this.

01:32:34 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 1:

If I say rolled out of bed, me, I look like I rolled from under a truck. It's like, where do you sleep? Yeah.

01:32:42 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 2:

Amber, what's going on?

01:32:44 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Oh, my gosh, I love you guys so much.

01:32:46 - 01:32:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, we love you, too. Amber, have you been reverse catfished?

01:32:50 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 6:

Yes. So I was in a really long relationship, and I just started dating again like a year ago. And I found that when I put more attractive photos up, I found a lot more shallow guys. I don't know. It's just my experience. So I started putting up photos of myself that, like, full-body pics that show how curvy I was, you know, pictures without a makeup. Stuff like that. And I actually kept Val the most amazing man that way because he met me the first time and he was like, wow, you are just gorgeous. Your pictures don't do you justice. And I was like, oh, my God, I love that so much.

01:33:25 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

I think that that might be the thing to do, guys. This might be the thing. Yeah, if you put together a profile, you know, on whatever dating app you're on, think twice about posting the best picture ever. Or especially, I think, don't put pictures up there where you're, you know, putting them through 8,000 filters, too. Doreen?

01:33:46 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys. Good morning.

01:33:47 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:33:49 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 5:

I would actually be disappointed. Because I'm attracted to dad bods. I'm not attracted to super hot-looking guys. The guys I've dated that looked good were buttholes. So, I would be actually very disappointed, like, going back, because if I click on your picture, and that's my initial attraction is that picture, because, you know...

01:34:17 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 2:

So, if a guy in his picture had a big old bare belly and was hairy all over, and then showed up and he looked like he was super sexy hot, well, or not in your eyes, but in other... You would be upset about that. You'd be like, where's the fat guy at in the picture?

01:34:31 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely, yes.

01:34:33 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 2:

That's interesting. I wonder if you're in the – you've got to be in the minority on that, though.

01:34:38 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 4:

No. Really? I get it. If I'm coming into this thinking that we're equals and all of a sudden you're like a Greek god, I'm pissed. Why did I even get dressed up? Because I'm not getting undressed in front of you. Really? I know.

01:34:50 - 01:34:52 | Speaker 1:

You don't feel like you hit a prize. Like, wow.

01:34:52 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

No, because now I know I'm not going to end up in somebody's bed. So that's not a prize. That was just a waste of time.

01:34:59 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

But he's there because –

01:35:00 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Because he liked you, too.

01:35:02 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 3:

I know a lot of guys that say that they have dated girls that didn't like dating them because they said that they were too good looking. So they always felt like they had to be on their A game all the time. So the guys were really, really good looking guys. They were also, by the way, they had way too big of egos.

01:35:19 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, if you tell your friends you're way too good looking.

01:35:22 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

But there are women, though, that don't like to date really good looking guys because they feel like other women are going to steal them. What's up, Dennis?

01:35:29 - 01:35:31 | Speaker 4:

Hey, this is Dennis. How you doing?

01:35:32 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Dennis. What's going on, Dennis? What's happening?

01:35:34 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 4:

Not much. This happened with me and my wife. I look terrible in pictures, but when she met me, she was like, oh, wow, you look like a supermodel. So it kind of worked out that way.

01:35:45 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 3:

Really? What's the big difference between you in a picture and you not in a picture?

01:35:50 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 4:

When I smile, I just have a real chubby, fat-looking face, but when I don't smile, I don't have a fat, chubby-looking face.

01:35:57 - 01:35:58 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that nice?

01:35:59 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 1:

See, I got a chubby, fat-looking face, but I like it because it makes my wife look better. I'm like the side piece to my wife. So anytime we take a picture, she always looks good, and I look like a chubby, fat-looking face.

01:36:09 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 2:

Has this man not learned from us? He's really learned how to lay on the compliments. He does. Yeah.

01:36:15 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 5:

It took us five years, but we got it. Yeah, yeah. I'm a slow learner. Yeah, I'm a slow learner. It was a long road.

01:36:22 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 3:

Nicole?

01:36:23 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hi.

01:36:24 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 3:

You did the reverse catfish with your now husband?

01:36:27 - 01:37:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, in 2016, I was on the dating apps, and I used to, like, food dig on the dating apps, so I would, like, put just normal pictures of myself just in, like, funny everyday scenarios, like, with dinosaurs or, like, a big pile of ice cream and, like, nothing serious, no, like, hot photos. and went on one date with this one guy, and he seemed really nice, and now we're married with, like, a kid and everything. Wow. What does it mean to food? You said food dig? Food digging. So I would, like, go on dates for food. Just for dinners. Okay.

01:37:06 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that's what I thought you meant.

01:37:07 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 5:

I just wanted to be sure. My girl. I love you.

01:37:09 - 01:37:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's not gold digging. It's just you're looking for a meal.

01:37:12 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was just, you know, a company, a good meal, you know, the whole bit.

01:37:18 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 3:

I love it. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself. Yeah. All right. Mojo in the morning show. Follow us on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, wherever you are. Just search Mojo in the morning show. So bachelorette parties, Spike, they're getting out of control.

01:37:38 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Can you tell me, lovely women of the age, if you're getting invited to these, am I being naive or is this just what they cost now? because a listener reached out to me for info on gatlinburg tennessee down in the smoky mountains she saw on my instagram that i was down there a couple months ago and she and her friends are going down for a bachelor party a bachelorette party so after i congratulated her on like saving the money of not going full-blown crazy in vegas like some do she's like oh no it's flashy as f she said we're renting a private jet and each girl has to contribute eighteen hundred dollars for it to get the jet. And then they're also giving $1,000 each for this big cabin they're renting. They're going horseback riding, whitewater rafting. Then they're stopping in Nashville for a night on the way home to get drunk with guys and dance with strangers. So can you imagine spending about $5,000 for a bachelorette party weekend?

01:38:35 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 5:

Who can't? I don't understand what bride thinks this is pizza.

01:38:40 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 2:

She's going to have two people go.

01:38:41 - 01:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is Otto and Hill's behavior. I don't know what this is.

01:38:44 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 2:

No, she said there's 12 of them. They're all going. This was not the bride that reached out to me. This was just one of the girls going to ask for tips on which bars they should go to, where they should eat, all that stuff.

01:38:56 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 3:

So they're already all in. That's wild. I think that, honestly, everything seems like it's crazier these days. With people, I think, spending just as much money on, like, and you could say this, bachelorette parties or bachelor parties, as they are on sometimes their honeymoons. Yeah. Like the honeymoons aren't as nice.

01:39:14 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 2:

And we've talked about how excessive gender reveals are. Parties for things we didn't used to have parties for. Even senior prom proposals are stupid. But the bachelorette party, $5,000 a girl. And to rent a private jet, I'm like, just for a weekend.

01:39:31 - 01:39:43 | Speaker 3:

Initial S wants to be voice disguised. Are you there? Hi, how are you guys? Good. Why do you want to be voice disguised? Are you going to call out the bride and bridal party that's throwing this bachelorette party?

01:39:43 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 5:

Well, I don't really know the other bridesmaids. I think I know, like, one of them. But I think the bride does listen to you guys. But I'm like, oh, I don't want her to hear me.

01:39:51 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

What did she say? I don't know if she said chick or a swear word, but just be safe. Okay. Did you say chick? No, no. Okay, yeah. Don't.

01:40:00 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 1:

swear all right go ahead no i didn't um so she was saying that well she's syrian so her wedding's gonna be already over the top it's insanely expensive like our makeup our hair the dress and it's like a lot of money then she's talking about going on like on a seven-day cruise

01:40:17 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 3:

which is nice for the batch wait for the bachelorette party yes wow oh my gosh and who

01:40:25 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 2:

could take that that much time off of work like cost aside i have like i have two children right

01:40:34 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 4:

like yeah you said you said she's syrian is is that maybe like a uh a thing that they do they do exorbitant like uh bachelorette parties i don't know about that but um but i know she's

01:40:50 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 1:

talking about like our makeup's gonna be like two hundred dollars our hair's gonna be two hundred are like, we're getting our bridesmaid dresses. They're like $3.50. My husband's also in the wedding. I'm like, oh my

01:41:02 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 4:

God. But the bachelorette party is going to be a seven-day cruise. How amazing is their honeymoon going to be if they're doing a seven-day cruise just for the women in the bridal party?

01:41:16 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but imagine how much money they're spending. They're probably going to end up in downtown Detroit for their

01:41:20 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 4:

honeymoon. Wow. Well, Yeah, or that. Could you imagine that? They spend so much money on the other stuff they can't afford to do a honeymoon. What's up, Jessica?

01:41:31 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 7:

Hey, my – it's definitely not as extravagant as the last person, but my girlfriend went to stop sales for a fast-forward party, had to pay, like, over $2,000 for hotel and stay, and then had coordinated outfits for lunch and dinner for, like, three days.

01:41:54 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 4:

See, that actually is expensive, too. The whole, we're going to go to an expensive city like Scottsdale or Nashville or Vegas. A buddy of mine just went to a bachelor party. He had it also. They Airbnb'd a place in Scottsdale. They went out to, like, all these really fancy restaurants to go to eat, and he said the entire time that he was there, he was like, this is costing me so much money. Because the problem is you end up when you're in a bachelor party or bachelorette party thing, you don't pay, you don't let the bride or the groom pay for anything.

01:42:26 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're treating them too.

01:42:28 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 4:

And then after a while you're like, okay, I got to stay at a place, I got to do all this stuff.

01:42:32 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 2:

And for girls, you usually have to bring a gift, right? There's usually like a, you bring lingerie or whatever. So there's that component to it as well. It's crazy.

01:42:41 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 5:

I would end friendships over stuff like this. Yeah. Like it's so inconsiderate. I don't understand. Unless you're footing the bill, how can you ask this of somebody?

01:42:50 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 4:

Jessica, would you ever say I'm not going to be in the bridal party if you found out this ahead of time? Like, I think people should have to lay out what their bachelorette, bachelor party responsibilities are going to be.

01:43:03 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 7:

I was going to say, I feel like it depends on the person. It depends on their relationship to me. But I feel like if I was asked, I probably would. But in places like Nashville and Scottsdale, when you have to, like, pay for all of that stuff up front, like, alcohol is so expensive. Exactly. You're putting a bill for, like, a lot of alcohol out on the town. Like, you're spending a lot of money and food and all of that. So it's not cheap when you're going to places like that.

01:43:31 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 3:

This girl said they're bringing a crate of champagne on the plane for the cabin. So they have a whole crate, a case, because they're going to go through it over the weekend.

01:43:40 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 4:

And, again, they're flying private on a private plane. Oh, my God. Can I tell you what my bachelor party was? It was in the back of Tonino's Pizza Place. And it was, we had a stripper.

01:43:51 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 5:

I was going to say, I remember the story about the stripper.

01:43:53 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 4:

She was the most expensive part of the entire thing. But we got a couple family-style pizzas. They were delicious.

01:43:59 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 3:

You had a stripper at a pizza place?

01:44:01 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 4:

Mike, there were families eating. And they had, so you know those, you know, the dividers that you have like doors, dividers that pull out of the wall, like those things, but it was an accordion pocket door. There was an accordion pocket door in this restaurant. That was the only thing dividing a 12 year old and 13 year old little boy at a table with mom and dad seeing boobies. Baseball team going there. Yeah. Yeah, don't mix up the parties. What's going on, Barbara?

01:44:36 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning, guys. Good morning.

01:44:37 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, what's up?

01:44:39 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 6:

So I think that when you plan a bachelorette party, you really have to have, like, the best people in mind, like, people that you trust to pay. Because I was part of a wedding a few years ago, and just, like, a simple project of, like, $35 a person, four or five other girls would refuse to pay me.

01:44:57 - 01:44:58 | Unknown:

Yeah. Oh.

01:44:58 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that happens a lot.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 7:

I'm sure, where people are just like, I just don't have the money or I'm not going to pay.

01:45:02 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 6:

Look at this text. I can't talk about this on the radio, but my husband's friend is planning a trip to Europe for his bachelor party.

01:45:08 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. You're going to lose friends. What happened to just like bar girls and getting slammed on PBRs? Like, what happened, you guys?

01:45:15 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 7:

So you talked about the girls refusing to pay. Felicia, you got kicked out of a bridal party?

01:45:24 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 4:

It wasn't me. It was my coworker.

01:45:27 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 7:

And why did she get kicked out?

01:45:29 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 4:

So she got kicked out of the bridal party because she couldn't afford to go to Colorado, chipping for, like, the Airbnb, which is in the mountains, a plane ticket, food, going to the bars, things like that. And she was just kicked straight out, and she was a great friend to the bride.

01:45:44 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's crazy. You lose a friendship over that. That's unbelievable. Kaylee, another one. A friendship ended because of something like this?

01:45:53 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 2:

yeah so um the last wedding i stood up in uh we went to chicago um for the bachelorette party um bride was a real tyrant and um basically she just ended friendships over the bachelorette party on the car ride home um because i was driving and a couple of the girls called her out um for you know things about cost um on the trip and she didn't like it and she said well i guess it's a good thing because now i'm just not gonna mail your wedding invites out man it's

01:46:25 - 01:46:40 | Speaker 6:

like you're sitting here getting a bunch of your friends giving you the honest truth and you're choosing the craziness over the friendship you're saying this is this is what we have to do it has to be crazy and you're losing your best friends over it well like even in chicago it was really

01:46:40 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 2:

expensive i wasn't i wasn't prepared it it it actually causes lots of stress and fights if Especially if you're in a relationship I think even me going to Chicago Costs around $2,500 And that's a state away Between Airbnb, food Matching outfits Stuff that we just did Like you guys said, paying for stuff for her Because you're not supposed to really let them pay for themselves

01:47:04 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 7:

No offense, matching outfits are dumb When I see girls Wearing matching outfits I'm like, okay sorority girls You guys need to grow out of this whole thing

01:47:13 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, you make girls pay $500 for Instagram photos when you could have just taken a group pick together. And let's be honest, how many times are you in these massive wedding parties where you only know or even like one or two people? So now you're spending $3,000 to spend a weekend with people you don't even want to be around.

01:47:30 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 7:

That's crazy. Kelsey, where is your bachelorette party that you guys are going to?

01:47:36 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 5:

So she wanted to go to Cancun. And between all of us, it was going to be about $1,500 for just the flight. and then about $400 each for the Airbnb, not including, you know, when they go out, food and drinks. And then I got a text from the maid of honor. She said, hey, we're trying to save money, so we're going to go to Tampa instead. So I looked up flights for that. They're about $850, and she said it was going to be about $500 for the Airbnb for that. And I'm like, so probably saving money here. It's about the same. So I told the bride I couldn't go, and she was actually very nice about it. But I was like, I can't go spend $3,500, $3,000 on a two-night stay somewhere.

01:48:19 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 1:

And that's part of the problem, too, is I feel like it puts people in a really unfortunate situation of, like, you want to be there for her. You want to be a part of the celebration. Yeah, I was like, I love you. But you can't, and then you feel like a bad friend, and then you have FOMO the entire time that it's happening. So it's just like this snowball effect of yuckiness because of where it is and what's happening.

01:48:44 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 7:

Here's what I would like to do. I would like anybody that has to go to one of these bachelorette parties like yourself, Kelsey, I would like you to make them sign a prenuptial agreement with you. And that is if their marriage doesn't last more than five years, they've got to pay you back for all the expenses that you had.

01:49:02 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 5:

That's logical. Oh, man, that's the worst conversation to have.

01:49:05 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 7:

Could you imagine? It's like, wait a second. I'll tell you what. I'm not going to do this, but maybe on your five-year wedding anniversary, if you guys are still together, we will rent a house in Cancun, Mexico.

01:49:16 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. My husband lost his brother over a bachelor party. That's great. You don't talk to your own brother because they didn't agree on what party you're throwing? Don't people know that gas prices are high?

01:49:28 - 01:49:56 | Speaker 7:

Why do they do stupid stuff like this? I know. Sometimes cinnamon's got inflation, too, guys. That's right. Wait, I want to know if that's the case. Mike, you just brought up something that I'm going to forever figure out. Maybe I'll call up the strip clubs. With inflation, have dances from strippers gone up? I imagine they have to. That and steak dinner. What is the price of a dance at a strip club? What do they charge?

01:49:56 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

No, don't tell me because it's going to make me want to do it.

01:50:00 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 2:

I want to know if that's gone up. All right, you know what I've got to do? I've got a little bit of time before the Dirty, so I think I can do this now. So I didn't forget. I did forget, but we had the Taylor Swift tickets, and normally we do for Red Wing Wednesday, we do tickets to go see the Wings at $7.50 and $9.50. But the Taylor Swift tickets obviously kind of bumped that out because, you know, the concert is so big. So I have two pair of tickets to go to see the Red Wings play. And why don't I do a pair now, and then I'll do another pair then with the normal time at 950. So before the dirty, before we get to the dirty, call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. KP, look for the 95th caller. They're going to win a pair of tickets to see the Detroit Red Wings take on the Vegas Golden Knights at Little Caesars Arena on December the 3rd. It's college night, and they're going to be getting excited over, I like this, the Michigan State Spartans, who had a big win last night in basketball against the Kentucky Wildcats. So 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, 95th caller. Good luck. It's Mojo in the morning.

01:51:12 - 01:51:18 | Speaker 1:

Hey, this is Steve Eisenman, and you're waking up with Mojo in the morning.

01:51:23 - 01:52:54 | Speaker 2:

So we're all season long giving away tickets to see the Red Wings celebrating their college nights, representing colleges from the area. They will have all kinds of cool merch. 01:52:55 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:52:57 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 2:

Shannon with the Dirty on the 30. What's trending, Shannon?

01:53:00 - 01:53:12 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's start with the great Taylor fiasco yesterday. Ticketmaster was just a big old mess with fans trying to get Taylor Swift tickets for her upcoming Eras Tour.

01:53:12 - 01:53:16 | Speaker 1:

Please, God, please. You can't make it. No, what just happened?

01:53:16 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there were all kinds of issues as fans tried to get their hands on pre-sale tickets, which broke Ticketmaster's page, leaving tons of Swifties in limbo. And fans were up in arms about this, posting all over social media about the huge dumpster fire that was happening. People were, like, panicking. I saw so many people posting, you know, photos on their Instagram story of where they were in the queue, and then the error messages, just massive meltdowns.

01:53:42 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 1:

I saw all the headlines, like, Swifties crashed Ticketmaster. I'm like, no, Ticketmaster crashed Ticketmaster. They knew how many people were signed up to get tickets.

01:53:49 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 3:

Well, they issued a statement saying there was an unprecedented demand for tickets. And they were encouraging people to stay in the queue.

01:53:59 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Everybody had a code. They knew how many people.

01:54:01 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 3:

Fans who were able to get tickets really spent an arm and a leg in order to attend, unless you were one of the very, very lucky ones. One person tweeted, It is so disappointing when presale codes are used to purchase tickets and then scalpers jack them up on resale sites because a lot of that was happening as well. Some are seeing prices skyrocket into the tens of thousands. Mojo, you said you have a friend who was looking at, was it the New Jersey show?

01:54:31 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, New Jersey show was like tens of thousands of dollars. But on a news report that we played this morning, the news reporter said that it was thirty five thousand dollars a seat, a seat, a seat for the show.

01:54:45 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they said it is the most sought after event of the year, way more so than the Super Bowl. One fan wrote, I would like to see Taylor Swift herself try to get tickets to her own show.

01:54:57 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That would be funny, by the way. The artist.

01:55:00 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 5:

should try to see if they could buy tickets through their own show just so they can see the process that you have to go through. That's pretty crazy.

01:55:06 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and then you'd understand it.

01:55:08 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 5:

I bought tickets to our Jingle Ball. So I wanted to have tickets for friends and family members so that I wasn't like hitting up Tony for them.

01:55:15 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:55:15 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 5:

And I'm going to tell you that. The tickets that we have are, listen, not $35,000 a piece. You can get tickets started at $35. But there are fees that are on there that are crazy fees that are nuts. That's unfortunate. That's the status. Even when you're looking at a ticket, you're like, oh, okay, I can do this. And then all of a sudden, it doubles. It's kind of like when you're ordering on DoorDash, and the next thing you know, you realize, what the hell just happened?

01:55:37 - 01:55:46 | Speaker 4:

It happened in there last night. Yeah. I had a limit for my Harry's and L's tickets, and then when I actually was checking out, I was like, oh, no, what happens? Purchase. I did. I'll do it. I did.

01:55:47 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, this is something that last week or two weeks ago, maybe it was longer than that, but I remember President Biden talking about cracking down on all these junk and processing fees. Concert tickets. Resort fees for hotels. Airlines for baggage. They don't show you what the actual cost of things are going to be.

01:56:03 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 5:

They need to not just talk about it before an election. They need to do something with it, and we need to hold them accountable.

01:56:08 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 4:

Ava Mendes is sharing her new tattoo on Instagram, leading fans to wonder if she and Brian Gosling are officially married. Her tattoo reads, D-Gosling, like D-E and then Gosling. And in Hispanic culture, when a woman gets married to a man, the husband's last name is often added on to the woman's original name using the or of very handmaid's tale is what this like made me think of. So I don't know. I don't know. There has been no confirmation. But because of the new tattoo, you know, lots of people are saying, all right, they've been together since 2011. Did they finally get hitched? Speaking of romances, Brad Pitt was seen with a 29-year-old mystery woman attending a Bono concert in L.A. They were hanging out with celebrity friends Cindy Crawford, Sean Penn. I mean, he's been with a few ladies lately, but this looked like there was a lot of PDA happening, so we'll see where that goes and who this woman is. Brian Laundrie's family demanding an apology from Jeopardy for a tasteless clue that referred to him on Sunday night's episode.

01:57:13 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 1:

In 2021, fugitive Brian Laundrie ended his days in Florida's Mayakahatchee Creek area, home to these long and toothy critters. Joel. What are alligators?

01:57:24 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 4:

We talked about this yesterday that fans were outraged. Remember, Brian Laundrie confessed to killing 22-year-old Gabby Petito. Why are they outraged? They had been traveling across the country together in a van. But yeah, so fans of Jeopardy were saying, okay, why? That's just so inappropriate. But Brian Laundrie's family now said in a statement, the entire Laundrie family is appalled and concurs with all of the comments on social media on how distasteful this was. The family attorney said, an apology is necessary here.

01:57:55 - 01:57:59 | Speaker 5:

Don't apologize to Gabby, the girl that Brian Laundrie killed.

01:58:00 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 4:

I'm surprised her family didn't come out actually and say, what the heck?

01:58:04 - 01:58:15 | Speaker 5:

The fact that his family is saying, we're appalled by this. I'm surprised his family would even speak nowadays. You know, they hit him and everything and hit all the stuff that was going on.

01:58:15 - 01:58:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

01:58:17 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, crazy.

01:58:18 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, if you have kids or maybe you're a fan of him yourself, Mr. Beast is a really popular YouTube. I love him, too. His real name is Jimmy Donaldson. He now officially has the most subscribers of any individual account on YouTube after overtaking his closest rival. Is it PewDiePie?

01:58:39 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 2:

PewDiePie. PewDiePie.

01:58:40 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 4:

I've never even heard of that person. Mr. Beast is like a member of my family at this point. He's on in our house all day. PewDiePie was the biggest YouTuber for, I want to say, like 14 years. So the fact that Mr. Beast overtook him was like a huge deal. 111 million subscribers on YouTube, which is kind of crazy. For all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on the Dirty in the Morning.

02:02:05 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 3:

I love them. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So we've been talking about our jingle ball. I mean, we talk about it sometimes ad nauseum, but we're so excited about it. Please at least give us the benefit of the doubt that we, being a show that's on only in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo, we normally don't get cool stuff. Like, no joke, I talk to other morning shows, and when I talk to them and I hear some of the things like Elvis Duran and Ryan Seacrest and Steve Harvey and The Breakfast Club.

02:02:39 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 1:

Notice they're all on the coast, because they always call the Midwest the flyover states. And it's kind of like, hey, you ignore us, but we have very fervent music fans here.

02:02:49 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 3:

Right. Well, I mean, even like Fred in Chicago, he gets nice stuff, but it's like market number three and stuff. We're only on, and I don't even know what Detroit is now. Detroit might be like market number 30 now or something. I don't know.

02:03:02 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 1:

We're 11.

02:03:03 - 02:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Is it really still? I think it went down.

02:03:05 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we bumped out of the top 10 three years ago. I think we might be lower than that. In radio or population?

02:03:12 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 3:

No, I think in, I don't know. It used to matter to me. Like, I used to want to be in market number one. I'll give you a little radio history. I worked in market number 300 once. Isn't that great?

02:03:27 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to know that.

02:03:28 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 1:

Hang on, I'm typing your autobiography.

02:03:30 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 3:

That was the champagne or man.

02:03:31 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 4:

Add it to his Wikipedia.

02:03:33 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 3:

No, but here's the thing. I always wanted to, I always really wanted to, like, become like Elvis Duran and, like, have cool crap all the time. But now I don't. I have a family that's healthy and happy, and I'm more at peace with myself, my therapist tells me. So we got this jingle ball that we're excited about, and we're going to talk about it because we are excited. And I hope the listeners, you guys, are just as excited about this because we finally got one for you guys. We finally got Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo, a jingle ball. After years of it just being New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tampa, Florida, stuff, we finally got one here. So, get your tickets, Ticketmaster.com, come to the show, or win them from us, but at very least, be there with us, and get just as excited with us. So, that's Jingle Ball.

02:04:21 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Now, we're going to talk about Mike's Jingle Balls, which I'm not equally as excited about. So, my wife, ever since the conversation earlier this week about her having diarrhea, or not having diarrhea, but it sounded like she did, she's just getting- I can clarify that real quick. Yeah, she's just been messing with me all week, like purposely. It's kind of what we do to each other anyways. We just kind of roast each other. We go back and forth or whatever. And a little back story. My wife and I have not decided on vasectomy or baby yet. It's a year later since we even started the conversation, and there's still no decision. We go back and forth.

02:05:00 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 3:

forth but we always kind of mess with each other about it so she's like she'll hear me do and i'm sure your spouses do this at your house too like she'll she'll throw out like names for things like contests or ideas or something all the time and so she's talking about jingle ball and she's like we should do no balls for jingle ball like what she's like you need to get a vasectomy before before you go to jingle ball um and that's not even like the the where this is going but i'm like oh that's kind of funny or whatever it's a great name yeah yeah yeah so then she's like uh she's like because that's where we always make babies we always either at vacation it was either it was a vacation one year and then it was uh the mojo in the morning halloween party the the when milo was conceived oh yeah that's we always at events or when we're on vacation that's where we make babies i don't know if everybody has a place that they they conceived all their babies or or if it's uh

02:05:55 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 4:

if it's just random it's interesting that you say that because i think that conception of of our children all happened very similar i think that it was i think it might have been similar to what you said it was surrounding around a big thing like a big family event that we conceived them do you remember which was which um i think that well i know luke's because luke's was chelsea had to have makeup sex with me i threw her a surprise birthday party for her 30th birthday And it was all around a big party or something that we had. And I threw her a surprise birthday party. And her friends were in town. And she called me a stupid MF-er one time. And she felt so bad because she did it in front of her friend Tanya. So Tanya convinced her to have makeup sex with me. And we conceived Lucas.

02:06:41 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 1:

And didn't she cuss you out when she found out she was pregnant too?

02:06:44 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she got so, oh, yeah. She called me the stupid MF-er again. But, Mike, it was all around like a big birthday or something like that. Or a big party that we threw. So that's interesting. So yours is always around at Big Station event, and here we got Jingle Ball coming up. So what does Allie think for the – where did Mike's Jingle Balls come into play here?

02:07:03 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 3:

Like I said, she always messes – like, we always go back and forth. Like, I say baby, then she'll say baby one week, and then I'll say, nah, let's just do the vasectomy. So this was, you need to get a vasectomy – like, her messing with me. You need to get a vasectomy before Jingle Ball because – or at Jingle Ball. At Jingle Ball.

02:07:18 - 02:08:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Can we get a sponsor to add with Ciroki's crispy chicken and pizza? Put them in a stirrups? Let's get a urology clinic to sponsor the Jingle Ball and have Mike up on stage behind like a curtain while the Backstreet Boys are saying, I want it that way. I'll hit the high notes. That would be so great. Oh, my God. By the way, our sales firm, we've got to give them a shout-out. They've been selling – they sold more than any of the other stations in the country for Jingle Ball sponsorships and stuff. But if one of our salespeople were to get a urology people to sponsor the Jingle Ball, I will plug that client nonstop from now until the end of the year so that Mike can get a vasectomy at the Jingle Ball. Wouldn't that be amazing?

02:08:10 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Can you imagine? The next morning we'll be in here broadcasting, talking about the concert, and Mike will be sitting in the corner with a bag of frozen peas on his watch.

02:08:19 - 02:08:26 | Speaker 4:

Do it for the show. What's up, Sam? How you doing? What's the big, what's the events that you've conceived?

02:08:27 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 1:

My wife's birthday is 11-11. So all three of my kids, they're four years apart. I mean, four years and birthdays. They're all within the same month, and they're all conceived on my wife's birthday. And I always tell my father-in-law, it comes around Thanksgiving, and I tell him, I don't drink. And usually these kids all get conceived on Thanksgiving. Well, that's what I was going to ask me. Every time you get me drunk, and I told him, I was like to him, every time you get me drunk, and I don't drink at all. I was like, every time you get me drunk, your daughter ends up pregnant. So this is the fourth year. So this is four years apart from my son. So I got this whole month. I'm staying away. I'm not doing nothing because I can't With everything that's going on, I'm straight I'm not taking a fourth on right now

02:09:13 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 2:

I was wondering why you were only having sex On your wife's birthday And now I realize it's because of all the alcohol Around the holidays

02:09:21 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Well, look, I don't even drink This guy loves to go put a couple drinks In front of me And I'll just have to get one in me And then it's over with

02:09:30 - 02:09:32 | Speaker 2:

And then your wife gets one in her

02:09:32 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 1:

Good one Now you know why I'm using the No, November, no, whatever it is. Yeah, yeah. This whole month, I'm good. I don't care whatever it is. I don't know what you're talking about.

02:09:43 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 4:

You're making it so that it's so hairy down there you can't even find it.

02:09:47 - 02:09:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what you're talking about. It's Busch Gardens.

02:09:51 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Kay.

02:09:52 - 02:09:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:09:53 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? What's the occasion that usually causes for pregnancy?

02:10:00 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 1:

just want to say i love y'all long time listener good morning thank you um but my parents had three girls and were all born in may ironically the only month my parents would go camping with their

02:10:11 - 02:10:19 | Speaker 5:

friends was august wow that's so we're all campground babies oh my god oh okay that's that's

02:10:19 - 02:10:31 | Speaker 1:

amazing you know what i got when i got pregnant i was um at my aunt and uncle's house and they just got back from camping and they asked my parents because i had my camp and so on they I said, when are you going to go camping? And my mom said, are you kidding? You think I want to get pregnant at my age?

02:10:32 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. That's funny. So our friends, the Caicoses, you know, Jackie, you guys have met Jackie and Jenny, Jamie, and, you know, everyone, all of them, all the beautiful girls. They were all conceived around the same time. Their dad owned a party store that would shut down when the plants would be closed because it was right by a plant. And it was always around July that they all got conceived. So it was when dad was home from the party store and not having to work. He wasn't tired from working all day. Yeah. So he'd come home and, you know, Mrs. Kacos, Mama Kacos, would have to, like, you know, run away from him. The fertile guy would be chasing her after her. What's up, Craig?

02:11:18 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey. I listen to the show. And anyway, my comment is my mother, I'm older now, but my mother told me that I personally was conceived after they attended a funeral and after the luncheon.

02:11:35 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 2:

Really? Oh, who was the funeral for?

02:11:37 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 4:

It was one of my uncles.

02:11:39 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, they were just.

02:11:40 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 5:

So, you know, isn't it happy, though? Usually after funerals, you're depressed. But isn't it nice that they actually would go and have sex?

02:11:49 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely, I guess. I mean, I'm here now.

02:11:51 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I wouldn't typically think you'd get in the mood to go humping after the funeral. You'd be a little sad.

02:11:57 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 5:

But you know what it is? It's like lose a life, add a life or something like that, right?

02:12:01 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:12:02 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely. That's awesome. So what do you think about this idea? Mike and his jingle balls, and we get a doctor to sponsor the jingle ball to do Mike's vasectomy live up on stage. I say the opposite, by the way.

02:12:17 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so are you taking a vote right now?

02:12:20 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm asking, do you think it would be tasteless for us to do something like that, or is tasteless what we do?

02:12:26 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, we are talking about Mike here, you know. I don't know if you want to neuter him right on stage like that.

02:12:35 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 5:

I think it would be fun. Like, I think, honestly, it would be fantastic.

02:12:38 - 02:12:42 | Speaker 2:

I think Allie should actually be jingling your balls, and you guys should be having sex backstage.

02:12:43 - 02:12:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I like that one better. And, wait, and what we No, because I like this, we're going to get a sponsor in mind Unless we're going to get a sponsor that's going to Provide, like the mattress sponsor that I have Provide the bed But no Closing the show will be This quartet

02:12:59 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 3:

A vasectomy Is a medical procedure The backstreet boys could do it One that makes you Half a man You're half a man Remember when you twisted up your garden hose Well, essentially, that is the plan That is the plan Say goodbye to manhood Say goodbye to babies Say goodbye to kids like Meg Back you out your sack

02:13:34 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 5:

Well, Joe, the morning show, I just found out that And Megan and Mike are going to have a special guest on the anniversary of their podcast, the Slightly Messy podcast. The podcast is celebrating how long or how many episodes today?

02:13:58 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 7:

Well, great question. 52 total, but it'll be, so which is the year? But we've actually been doing this for like 14 or 15 months now at this point. So it's a really odd anniversary.

02:14:12 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 6:

We missed the year. Not an even number. It's not an even time.

02:14:15 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 5:

A very special guest will be joining them. So you got to listen to that podcast. You can go check out the More Mojo podcast platform and then listen to the More Mojo podcast every Wednesdays of the Slightly Messy podcast, which is Mike and Megan's podcast.

02:14:30 - 02:14:32 | Speaker 2:

That was very dramatic.

02:14:33 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning show. So I don't know what this is. Maybe this is a generational thing, but Megan, you were out to eat with Jillian, your bestie. And there was something that happened during the lunch, but there's something that didn't happen.

02:14:49 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. So you ever get so hungry that you guys won't even shut up with your friends until you actually get food? Because we were just like, I'm so hungry. I'm so hungry. Let's go get food. Okay, I'm starving. I'm going to eat.

02:15:00 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 5:

eight appetizers we're gonna order 17 drinks and um 36 appetizers and at least four courses and definitely a dessert or two we just would not shut up about how hungry we were so we went out we got some food and about halfway through i noticed jillian just like stops eating and i was like well pump the brakes here i thought we were being fatties today so let's keep going and um She said, I can't finish this. I said, well, what happened? What happened to your food? She goes, there's a hair in my food. Oh, gross. That's so gross. Don't worry. I'll call the server over here and we'll get you something new. And immediately she throws her hands on the table and she was like, don't you tell the server that anything is wrong with this. So what do you mean? Don't tell the server. There's hair in your food. We'll get you new food. It's fine. Like I worked at a restaurant. Like the server's not going to care. They want you to be happy. They want a tip. so they just want to fix it. I can't tell her. I just can't do it. It's giving me too much anxiety. I can't tell her that anything's wrong. It's fine. I don't need to keep eating. I'll just pick up something else on the way home. This girl would rather stop at a fast food restaurant on her way home from the restaurant that we were currently eating at than telling the server that there was a hair in her food. And she was like, I don't want to cause any problems.

02:16:17 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 6:

What is, that's a, I got to tell you something. I see that more and more. What is, how old is she? 20?

02:16:22 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 5:

20. 24? She's 24.

02:16:25 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 6:

I see that more and more.

02:16:27 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 5:

I know. But here's the thing. I get it too because I would never, ever, ever, ever send my coffee back when they put actual milk in it. I will go, thank you for the six hours I will be spending in the bathroom today. I will drink this coffee with happiness and I will not tell you that I asked for oat milk. Thank you. I would also

02:16:43 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 4:

still eat the meal after I removed the hair. In most cases. Unless it looks like a pube. I just assume there's always hair in my food.

02:16:51 - 02:16:53 | Speaker 6:

I assume everything's a pube and I just eat it anyway.

02:16:54 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm hungry. I'm hungry.

02:16:55 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 2:

I take it out, put it on the side of the dish, and just hope that it was heated hot enough to kill any germs.

02:17:01 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 5:

One time I had a hair in my food that was a gray hair, and I pulled it out of my mouth, and for some reason I was like, this could be the end.

02:17:08 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 4:

I once found a tooth in my bread, lest we not forget that story. Oh, that's right. Hair is nothing. Yes, in the crust. Baked in the crust of the bread. Okay? It was years ago, and I have not forgotten. I literally check the crust of my bread with every sandwich I eat.

02:17:26 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 6:

If I was at that restaurant when that happened to you, I would say that you're the winner. I would just be like, oh, my God, you won the prize as a way to get you to not complain. Yeah, we put that in there for free gifts. Here's the thing that's interesting, though, that I see is I see people that will, like yourself, Megan, you don't get what you want, you know, and then you'll just do it anyway. but you don't you won't do it verbally to them personally but you'll go and you'll post on social media or do a yelp bad yelp review that's like you'll spend the time yelp reviewing them

02:17:56 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 5:

instead of giving them a chance to fix the thing 100 because uh that's not face-to-face

02:18:01 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 6:

confrontation but that's worse for them than than if you just said hey i'm sorry can you remake another uh food for me without hair in it oh no i think jillian's mad at me

02:18:10 - 02:18:25 | Speaker 2:

for talking about this um why it's it's in your rights as a customer and you order something to expect food to be good now you have to handle it nicely and politely which i know you two girls would but you have you can't throw be a karen about it but they're not going to be mad at you

02:18:25 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 5:

for wanting a new day yeah but if i give you a bad yelp review afterwards you can't spit my food

02:18:30 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 2:

when i reorder it no but that's not the way to handle it like handle it in the moment they'd be glad to make you a new dish don't just go home and trash them because accidents happen you don't You want to, like, just because someone accidentally got a hair in your food, try and ruin the restaurant's business for life.

02:18:43 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 5:

Right. I don't know if you saw this documentary. It's called Waiting. And any time they had food sent back, I saw them do pretty terrible things.

02:18:51 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 1:

Do you think this is the reverse or opposite effect of canceling, like cancel culture? Like, that we're so scared that people are going to do stuff to our stuff because we are so quick to cancel everything?

02:19:02 - 02:19:17 | Speaker 2:

No, I feel like Generation Z and millennials have been this way for a while, even before all the canceling and stuff. I feel like there's less confrontation. That's exactly it, yeah. Like, oh, I don't want to bother them. I don't want to make a big scene.

02:19:17 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Katie?

02:19:19 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 3:

So I'm a groomer, and, you know, we bring a lot of bitches in to share or whatever, and we'll find dogs and we'll just be like, oh, it's no big deal. we just push it aside and we pick it out but if we find a somebody's hair from that like a person's hair we're like uh-uh can't do it funny yeah it's funny that's true yeah you're more apt to

02:19:47 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 6:

to be fine eating dog hair than eating a human hair now let me flip this to katie as a peck

02:19:53 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

rumor because i imagine your business and hairstylists wouldn't you rather have a customer just say, nope, this isn't how I wanted it.

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 1:

And you can get an opportunity to fix it instead of them just ignoring it and then going telling 100 people later they messed it up.

02:20:08 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely. No, we're super appreciative when when they tell us because it's like now we know for in the future and we like tips.

02:20:17 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So see that, Megan? That's nice. She doesn't care.

02:20:24 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 7:

No, I don't care about anybody. Selena.

02:20:28 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:20:29 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

What's up?

02:20:30 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so I work in customer service, and that's, like, the thing we hope for most is that somebody tells us that, you know, sorry, I mean, we don't hope for it, but, you know, we're, like, we're so appreciative of somebody bringing us the problem and letting us fix it than telling everybody that, you know, we're terrible.

02:20:49 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Right, right.

02:20:50 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 4:

Give us a chance to show us our awesome customer service.

02:20:53 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Megan, you got to end that comment by saying Megan with a mean voice like that.

02:21:00 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 7:

I want it to be clear. I didn't write a review. I haven't mentioned the restaurant. That wasn't my plan. I just wasn't going to tell you that there was a hair in it either.

02:21:07 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't get you guys also that you sit there yapping with each other nonstop and not eating your food.

02:21:12 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 7:

No, they were waiting for their food to come out.

02:21:14 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 2:

No, but didn't you say that when the food comes to you, you don't go eat? Like, I dive right into it.

02:21:19 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 1:

Wait a minute. But, Mojo, you're the one that always asks us a big question, and then you eat your whole meal while we have to talk.

02:21:25 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 7:

So true. And then I have to get a box for the food that I want to eat that I don't have time to eat. Because we have to leave.

02:21:30 - 02:21:39 | Speaker 2:

I have a new thing now. If I go to lunch with people, I call it quiet lunches. I tell them, I said, let's just be quiet the whole time. We'll just eat in each other's presents because I want to eat my food.

02:21:39 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 7:

I think you're just trying to get out of going to lunch with people.

02:21:42 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

Pretty much. What's up, Alicia? Hi.

02:21:46 - 02:22:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. How are you? What's going on? Good. Good. So I own a small boba shop in downtown Ferndale. And what Megan had said about leaving a Yelp review, for us small business owners, it sucks. Like, I'm a millennial, so I absolutely understand the anxiety. I was telling KP that, like, I would so much rather order a pizza over the internet and not talk to anybody at all.

02:22:12 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 7:

Oh, 100%.

02:22:13 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 5:

If somebody, sorry, what'd you say?

02:22:16 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, for small businesses or any businesses in general, I would never leave a negative review. I would go to my grave before ruining somebody's business because so many people go to Google, read one bad review, and then go, well, I won't try that. So I would much rather just throw it away.

02:22:33 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 5:

It's so unfortunate because if it's something that we can fix as small business owners, I had somebody, you know, one time they had a small hair in their drink. We remade it for them. I want them to have a good experience when they're here with us. And obviously, like, if there's a hair in their drink, it's not a good experience. That's the last thing that they're going to think about when they think about my shop. One time we had, you know, like a syrup pump break, and we had no idea. It somehow ended up in somebody's drink, and they brought it to us. They're like, there's this piece of plastic in here. Had we not known, like, we would have continued, like, if we didn't see that piece, we would have continued serving this. So thankfully that person had said something. But, you know, like, you know, where all human mistakes happen, And I'm not saying that, like, you guys did anything wrong by not saying anything, but for us business owners, it's like a nice guide for us to, like, oh, well, we should fix this, and we should fix that type thing, if that helps.

02:23:26 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Hopefully she learns her lesson.

02:23:32 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 7:

Me? What are you talking about? Why are you just, like, literally, like, dragging me after every call? I'm joking.

02:23:40 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 2:

I'm joking. Megan doesn't even have Yelp.

02:23:42 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, no.

02:23:44 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 2:

Bill, what did you find in your glass of milk?

02:23:47 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 3:

I was a quarter glass of milk, and I thought I saw something on a quarter of my eye. I didn't pay that much attention. Went to drink the glass of milk, and the last drink, find something in my mouth, pull it out. It's a fake nail that's about three inches long. Wow. With diamonds on it.

02:24:06 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 2:

With diamonds on it? You win!

02:24:08 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 3:

I've got diamonds on it, Megan. Congratulations.

02:24:11 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 1:

No extra charge.

02:24:12 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 3:

Wait. The bottom side is all dirty and sandy and disgusting.

02:24:16 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

Wait, was it something from the milk plant?

02:24:20 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 1:

Probably whoever washed the dishes.

02:24:22 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 2:

Where was it at? Was this at your home or where was this?

02:24:26 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 3:

This was at home, a gallon of milk. Oh. Oh, God.

02:24:31 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 2:

So do you live with a woman that might have a nail like that or do you think it came from the place that you got your milk?

02:24:41 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 3:

Not my wife. She does not have fake nails.

02:24:43 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 2:

She doesn't have fake nails. Wait, can you imagine, though, if your wife thought that you had a girl over and that nail came from that girl? I would be more pissed.

02:24:50 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 7:

That would be the craziest story if it was a fake nail found in a gallon of milk.

02:24:55 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Right? Yeah. She's probably been pretty hot, but she was there.

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 1:

That's a war of the roses, by the way. Found the fake nail. Your wife calls us up. Where are you sending the roses to, pal? We're going to find out there.

02:25:08 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 3:

This is why we don't drink milk.

02:25:10 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 2:

No one's ever going to believe you found a nail in your milk.

02:25:13 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 1:

I swear to you, this is not the girl I was cheating with. You tell that milk-drinking girl. Mojo in the Morning Show. Have you ever caught someone talking spit about you? Well, when it happens, it really brings you down. Imagine when you catch somebody talking spit about the person that you love, your significant other, your boyfriend, your girlfriend, your husband, your wife. So recently, I caught someone talking spit about my wife, Chelsea, and it happens to be a person who I considered to be a friend and that's the part that was such a bummer about the whole deal it's Mojo in the Morning Show, the phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 so one of my and I'm not going to call him a friend anymore I'll call him an acquaintance but we were kind of friends for a little bit I mean you know, have known him for a good period of time but we hung out a few times not as of recently, but probably in like the last year or so, we've hung out like once or twice. This particular friend was talking to somebody else. And when they were talking to somebody else, didn't realize that somebody else actually and I are close and that they would tell me that they were going to say something about the, this guy, anything that he said was going to come right back to me. And he was talking about my wife, Chelsea, and saying that Chelsea is bossy and I don't do anything that Chelsea doesn't want me to do, which, by the way, he's right on both of those. I'm not going to lie to you. But I'm going to say to you, the next stuff that comes out talking about, I don't know, I don't like her, whatever the whole deal is, I'm like, oh, wait a second. You don't like her, you don't like me. And when I hear people that will do this, where they'll, you know, they'll talk behind your back like this, I would say to, and I did say this to my friend that overheard it, I wonder what he's saying about you and about your, you know, family and stuff. Have you, if you guys found out that somebody was saying bad stuff about the person that you're, you know, in love with, would you stop being friends with them? Would you end a relationship How would you deal with it Because I will tell you this I want to just end the relationship And not even deal with it But I was told that you got to confront them And say something No I did not

02:27:58 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't confront

02:27:59 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 1:

Because I'm like Megan I'm not confrontational

02:28:01 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm not giving you a chance to defend yourself You just write them off you're done You don't need access to our lives anymore

02:28:07 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 3:

I think if you hear it through the grapevine You always need to confront And go what really happened because you never know what happened in a game of telephone and what actually went down. And I think from there you go, okay, either we need to talk and mend this relationship or let it go. But if you hear it from the source, I would immediately...

02:28:26 - 02:30:01 | Speaker 1:

Well, I don't know if this guy doesn't seem like he's the type of person that would actually give you the truth. The person who told me, I believe 100% because he has no reason to lie. Like there's really true... Like he actually said to me, he goes, listen, I feel bad even saying this to you. I was going to say, why did he say it? But he said, I want because he said, I want you to know that I care about you and I care about Chelsea. So this friend of mine, this friend of mine, when I had my heart surgery, really stepped up as a friend with Chelsea in my kids and stuff, like really stepped up to be like there for Chelsea and was awesome about the fact that, you know, he was going to check in with her often, but not check in to a point where it was going to be too much for her. And then just be there, like drop stuff off at the house all the time. When I came home from the hospital, he was he like step like I want to say this. One of the people who I felt was my best friend in the entire world. Never checked in on me at all during the entire time that I was 90 days recovering from having an open heart surgery. And the first time that I actually had a conversation with them and talk to them physically because I didn't have my phone for at least 60 plus days. chelsea kept my phone from me for two months of of the recovery first thing that he uh started telling me was how horrible his life was oh my life is horrible my life which honestly i'm thinking to myself i'm like going wait a second i just had open heart surgery you're not even asking how i'm doing it was kind of like oh my life is miserable and all this other stuff so i kind of

02:30:00 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 5:

That heart surgery helped me write off a few things, helped me write off a few people that I thought were really close to me, but also helped me realize how many people were not just close to me, but close to my family, because that was a really difficult time for them. But it's interesting, this particular, you know, saying bad stuff and talking bad makes no sense to me because my wife's been nothing but nice to this guy. And that's the part that's kind of crazy. And I, and I will say this, that people sometimes get, I think they're jealous of relationships. Like I, like I said to him at first ago, I don't know why he would ever talk like that to me. And I think the real truth is I know why he's mad that my wife and I are actually in a good spot right now. And I think he was more happy when we weren't in good spots.

02:30:49 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 1:

When it was misery loves company.

02:30:51 - 02:30:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So he's like, oh, yeah. F them. They're happy now.

02:30:55 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 2:

Which I joke about all the time. But if I ever did that in real life to anybody, please smack me across the face. Yeah. That's so nice.

02:31:03 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 5:

Like if you ever were like them when they were more miserable.

02:31:09 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 2:

Like when I joke all the time, like, oh, you're happy and good for you. But like, I would never do that to somebody in real life. Geez.

02:31:17 - 02:31:23 | Speaker 5:

Isn't it funny when you hear somebody talking crap about somebody, you wonder, don't you, how much crap they talk about you?

02:31:23 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, all the time.

02:31:25 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 5:

They do. You know they do. Absolutely.

02:31:27 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 1:

And it's always about them more than it's about you. You know, it's always internal when they're talking crap about you. It's because they feel a deficiency or they feel something, you know, they're trying to make themselves feel better. Yeah.

02:31:38 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 5:

Juliana.

02:31:39 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:31:40 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 5:

Hi. What's going on?

02:31:42 - 02:32:31 | Speaker 3:

So I had a friend. We're no longer friends, unfortunately, but we were friends for about eight years. I was a godmother to four of her child children, and she had given me a few ultimatums while we were friends. actually, while I was with my boyfriend about, like, basically be my friend and break up with him or I'm not going to be your friend anymore. And I told her. What are you in third grade? I know. And she's a grown woman. She's got five kids. And she was so jealous of my boyfriend because we would do couple stuff together and not include her. And she would get upset. And it's like we go on a date together and she would be mad that we didn't take her downtown with us. And it's like, you're the friend You're not the You know, sister wife You're like, you're the friend

02:32:31 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 5:

I love sister wives, by the way That's one of my favorite shows

02:32:34 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 2:

That guy's a douche I love Christine, I'm so happy for her Can't wait for Janelle to leave Are you kidding me?

02:32:43 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Jess?

02:32:45 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up?

02:32:46 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

02:32:48 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 4:

Not a whole lot So I had a friend while she was a neighbor and she would drop her daughter off every single morning before school so she could go to work and her husband at the time could go to work. And our kids are in the same grade. I have twins. She has a daughter. And, you know, we went to school events, all that kind of stuff. And lo and behold, I found out that she has been telling everybody that my husband has been wanting to sleep with her, even my neighbors.

02:33:20 - 02:33:20 | Unknown:

No.

02:33:20 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 4:

and where does she get this i you know i think if somebody just made said says a comment to her she likes the attention i really don't know it just blew my mind because i'm not trying to dog anybody what like why was she spreading that that rumor she jealous of you i don't know she doesn't i really have no idea i don't i mean she was telling everybody that i was a drunk that i drink every night i mean just horrible things about me to my friend to my kids uh friends

02:33:54 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 1:

parents well it sounds to me she wants to isolate you from the group yeah she's mad yeah apparently

02:34:00 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 5:

yeah yeah and she's just and she's jealous of she's jealous of you so she's putting you down she's jealous of your relationship probably too yeah but it's um yeah have you ended that friendship you you confront her at the bus with the kids around no no no once the kids got off

02:34:17 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 4:

on the bus. She knew I wanted to talk to her and I let her have it. What was that like? You know, she just sat there. She sat there and gave you no explanation. Did she admit that she did all that? No explanation. Nothing. Nothing. And she didn't. And I haven't seen

02:34:37 - 02:34:46 | Speaker 5:

her in four years. Oh my God. Wow. Craziness. Craziness. Four houses down for me. Wow. What's

02:34:46 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

up katie moj i got a theory thank you i think i think that the friend who told you that this other alleged friend is talking crap about chelsea i think the friend who told you is in love with

02:35:00 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea wants you to think, you know what? Chelsea is kind of bossy. She doesn't let me do a lot of things. Because he's in love with Chelsea. He stepped up while you were in heart surgery. I'm on to it. He was hoping I died, right? He was hoping that.

02:35:17 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 4:

Katie trying to twist these General Hospital soap opera stories. I'm going to tell you this.

02:35:23 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 1:

I'm a stay-at-home mom. I got nothing better than that. All right, what's going on in the dirty?

02:35:33 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, Denise Richards, actress, former Real Housewife, was shot at during a road rage incident on Monday in L.A.

02:35:42 - 02:35:59 | Speaker 2:

Now to breaking news. Actress Denise Richards and her husband were involved in a road rage incident that resulted in gunfire. It happened yesterday when Richards and her husband were trying to find parking. The driver behind them was getting irritated. Crazy. There's so much stuff going on right now.

02:36:00 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 3:

They were slowing down, trying to look for parking on the street. They were in his truck, her husband Aaron's truck. And then, like, somebody got pissed and started shooting at them for that. I mean.

02:36:08 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 4:

So it had nothing to do with her being Denise Richards. They just thought she was whoever.

02:36:11 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. I mean, I haven't heard that theory in any of the stories I've read or watched about that.

02:36:17 - 02:36:53 | Speaker 4:

I actually just read a story. I was going to send it to you guys because I was going to do it in the Trendy News. I read a story about a couple that was getting pictures taken in San Francisco, which things are a mess in San Francisco right now. And while they were getting their their wedding photos taken, the newlyweds witness somebody actually come up to the wedding photographer and then another person come up and start pistol whipping that person like they got got robbed of his cameras and everything there. And this all happened in like one of the nicer parks, like in San Francisco, in broad daylight while these people are getting there. I know. Yeah.

02:36:53 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 3:

Former President Donald Trump launching his 2024 re-election campaign last night during a speech at Mar-a-Lago.

02:36:59 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 1:

In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for President of the United States.

02:37:08 - 02:39:23 | Speaker 3:

The feud is back on. JoJo Siwa versus Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure. It all started this time around after Candace left the Hallmark Channel back in the spring and joined the Great American Family Network to work on projects that will, quote-unquote, keep traditional marriage at the core. Those were her words. She does a lot of Christmas movies. She did a lot for the Hallmark Channel, now for Great American Family Network. Earlier this year, Hallmark announced it had plans to show a more diverse lineup, including movies with LGBTQ plus leads. Candace telling the Wall Street Journal after her move of networks, my heart wants to tell stories that have more meaning and purpose. I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that loved the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment. Well, lots of backlash for those comments about wanting to keep traditional marriage at the core. Many thought she was being rude and hurtful to the LGBTQ plus community. Jojo Siwa included. She wrote in an Instagram post, Honestly, I can't believe after everything that went down just a few months ago that she would not only create a movie with the intention of excluding LGBTQIA+, but then talk about it in the press. Actress Hilary Burton also slamming Candace Cameron Bure as a bigot, tweeting, I don't remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy, but sure, make your money, honey. You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank. And lastly, the Grammy nominations out yesterday with Beyonce leading the pack. Nine nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Dance Album for Renaissance. The new nominations, by the way, bring Beyonce's lifetime total to 88, which bring her to a tie with her husband, Jay-Z, for the most nominations in Grammy history. Kendrick Lamar follows with eight nominations. Adele and Brandi Carlile both got seven. Other nominees for the 2023 Grammys include Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, Doja Cat, Bad Bunny, and BTS. The Grammys happening February 5th in L.A. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

02:39:23 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 1:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scam is next.

02:39:31 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Five to three. Four, five.

02:39:37 - 02:39:38 | Unknown:

02:39:43 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 3:

Yes. What do you do for a living, Danielle? I work in dietary hospital.

02:39:47 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 4:

What kind of mom do you have? Do you have a mom that likes to yell?

02:39:50 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she does. She gets real irate, like very bad, very bad.

02:39:55 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 4:

All right, well, that's a perfect mom for five lies to tell your mom. We're going to give you five.

02:40:00 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 1:

You just got to be able to keep your mom on the phone. If you do, you win a prize for her, okay? Okay. Lie number one, you're going to say, Mom, I got into a confrontation with a patient. Okay. All right, lie number two. Say, she told me to move out of the way,

02:40:15 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 3:

and I told her to shut her fat mouth.

02:40:21 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three, my boss only heard the part about me calling her a fat .

02:40:27 - 02:40:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:40:28 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

And lie number four. Four.

02:40:29 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm on my way to a meeting with my supervisor.

02:40:32 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh. And line number five, they're going to fire me, and I have no idea what to say. Have you ever used words like shut your f**k, Mel?

02:40:42 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I will.

02:40:46 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 1:

Let's see if you're a good liar.

02:40:48 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:40:49 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to call mom up.

02:40:50 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 2:

Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, Momma, M And, like, I set her tray down. She was just, like, real irate. Right. And she told me to move on her way. And I'm just, like, stressed out. So I just told her to shut her fat mouth. Why did you just leave out the room? Because, ma, she just was tripping. And that's why I just, I'm like, shut her fat mouth. And then somehow my boss was on the floor. and the only part she heard was about the fat a**. So what happened? Now I'm on my way to a meeting with my supervisor. Okay, just tell them you just accidentally said... I mean, I'm scared. I don't know what to do. You scared about what? They gonna fire me. They're firing me. I don't know what to do. There's nothing to do. It is. It is. What can I do? I'm getting fired. Okay, but then can you just tell them that that was just an accident? But how? She hurt me. I understand what she hurt. What am I supposed to do, Mom? Huh? What am I supposed to do? Ain't nothing you can do but go in there and talk to them people.

02:42:36 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 1:

Is this Danielle's mom?

02:42:37 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

02:42:38 - 02:42:39 | Speaker 1:

Hi, this is her supervisor.

02:42:39 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:42:40 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 1:

What kind of a daughter are you raising?

02:42:43 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 2:

No, don't say that. You know what, sir? It's not what kind of daughter I'm raising. She's just been under a lot of stress, and that was a mistake. Danielle never handles herself in that order.

02:42:57 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 1:

She never. You should see her walking around here. She talks like a truck driver.

02:43:02 - 02:43:04 | Speaker 2:

She's just been under a lot of stress. That's all.

02:43:04 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 1:

She's telling a patient to shut her fat ass mouth?

02:43:08 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 2:

No. I just know people get under a lot of pressure sometimes. Sometimes you say things that you don't mean.

02:43:14 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 1:

Like you're under so much pressure. or what did you just do right now, Danielle?

02:43:19 - 02:43:31 | Speaker 2:

Five lives to tell your mom. Huh? You're on the radio, lady. I got you. You got who? You. You just punked me.

02:43:32 - 02:43:35 | Unknown:

What the f***? You did it.

02:43:35 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mom, this is Mojo in the morning. Mojo, I love you guys.

02:43:39 - 02:43:41 | Unknown:

02:43:42 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 2:

Nicole, they just punked me. And I always listen to you guys. I love you guys. Forget the punk part. I love Mojo in the morning.

02:43:52 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, I... Now, how do you listen as much as you do and not know that that's us calling you?

02:43:57 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 2:

Because it didn't sound like Spike. And I'm like, they'll never get me. I'm like...

02:44:01 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, they got me. Hey. Huh? Will you shut your fat mouth for one second so I can talk here for a second? Can you believe your daughter would do this to you?

02:44:12 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 2:

Did you let a little fart out while you were talking to her? I did. I got gas so freaking bad. My co-worker is like across the room. That is so gross. And I'm sitting right here like, oh, my God, my daughter is, I'm like, what are we going to do? But I got to keep my cool normally. I would have been like what the hell you mean. 02:46:55 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:46:59 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 4:

7, this is McKenna speaking.

02:47:01 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 2:

How can I help you? Hi, McKenna. This is Lee. Did Dennis tell you that I'd be calling? I'm sorry.

02:47:09 - 02:47:10 | Unknown:

Who is it?

02:47:10 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 2:

My name is Lee Saffranks, and he told me I had to talk to you about a refund.

02:47:17 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I'd be happy to help you with that. Can you tell me what happened?

02:47:20 - 02:47:30 | Speaker 2:

Me and my caregiver saw a movie that was just trash. It was so horrible, the worst I've seen in two years. Anyway, he said you'd LMK.

02:47:31 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 4:

Um, LMK?

02:47:33 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, let me know.

02:47:35 - 02:47:36 | Speaker 4:

Let you know about a refund?

02:47:37 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:47:38 - 02:47:39 | Unknown:

I'm sorry, what happened?

02:47:40 - 02:47:43 | Speaker 2:

We didn't like the movie. Waste of time.

02:47:44 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 4:

I'm so sorry. I can't give you a refund just because you didn't care for the movie. I'm really sorry.

02:47:50 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 2:

STFU. What kind of policy is that? I mean, IMHO, if a customer was not satisfied, you don't pay for the movie. And TBH, it was a terrible movie. We were not satisfied.

02:48:04 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 4:

You know, the choice of movies isn't up to us. If it was a customer service issue or something like that, I'd be happy to help you with that.

02:48:11 - 02:48:17 | Speaker 2:

But unfortunately, so you're fine with taking people's hard-earned money for a bad product?

02:48:18 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I don't know which movie it was, but just because you don't like it doesn't mean that other people didn't like it.

02:48:23 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 2:

And I my butt was asleep and so was I. It was horrible.

02:48:28 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 4:

I can't give you a refund just because you don't like the movie. I'm really sorry. D.A.E.C.

02:48:35 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. I don't know what that means. Did anyone else complain? No, not yet. We haven't had any complaints so far. Well, I'm complaining. Put me down as the first one and just refund on my MasterCard, please.

02:48:49 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 4:

I can let Dennis know that you didn't like the movie, but you did buy a ticket and sit in your seat and take up a seat that someone else could have sat.

02:48:58 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 2:

Also, BTW, the popcorn was really stale, And I don't know if it was made the day before or something, IDK, but I'd like my money back for that, too.

02:49:09 - 02:49:10 | Unknown:

Did you eat the popcorn?

02:49:11 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, of course. I was watching a movie. Did you say anything at the counter about it being stale? I said something to my friend Agnes. I said, this movie, Popcorn, is horrible as the movie. If you'd brought it right back to the counter, but I really can't refund you for popcorn that you ate. You know what I feel like is happening here? What? I feel like this is a phone scam from the Mojo in the Morning show, McKenna. This is Spike, and you've just been the victim of a phone scam.

02:49:40 - 02:49:46 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank God. Honestly, some of the customers we get, that wasn't the one.

02:49:50 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. Mojo in the Morning. Your whole with the world-famous phone scams.

02:50:02 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning Live. Oh, my goodness. Mojo in the Morning. Hannah.

02:50:12 - 02:50:12 | Unknown:

Hi.

02:50:13 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Hannah. You're a winner. Congratulations.

02:50:16 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Thank you guys so much.

02:50:18 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 2:

We're going to set you up with tickets. You're going to go to see the Red Wings play on December the 3rd against the Las Vegas, the Vegas Golden Knights. Congratulations. And it's college night there, so there will be all kinds of good merch. They're going to be supporting Michigan State that night. So that will be Michigan State night, so congratulations. Awesome. Thank you. Thank you so much. Have a great day, okay?

02:50:42 - 02:50:42 | Unknown:

Thanks.

02:50:42 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 2:

You too. All right. Hold on one second here. All right. It is Mojo in the Morning Show. Shannon, you are a sucker for Christmas.

02:50:52 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. For really any holiday specialty product, but especially Christmas. I was at Target yesterday and ended up with every type of elf-on-the-shelf cereal that they make. Did you even know that there's elf-on-the-shelf cereal? Stop it. Do you want to try them? Come to my house. I got them. All of them. What's the flavor? There's a chocolate one. There's like a white and marshmallow one. There's a red and green one. Got them.

02:51:20 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 3:

I always do that with the monster cereals at Halloween. I have to buy them all every year.

02:51:24 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 1:

Anything that's like a specialty, like all the different kinds of Oreos, Sign Me Up, holiday-flavored creamers. I drink my coffee black, and I still buy them. Like, whatever it is, I want it. New Kit Kat flavor, I got to try it. New Coca-Cola flavor, got to try it. These companies have caught on. They're so smart.

02:51:40 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

All you have to do is put the word limited edition in front of it and make us feel like we have to buy it now. We have to try the McRib. We have to try this holiday drink at Starbucks. It feels like it's not here all the time. Let's get it before it disappears.

02:51:53 - 02:52:08 | Speaker 1:

I had Smith with me at Target So it was just him and I And as I pushed my card up to the self-checkout I could feel the judgment of how bad of a mom I was That I had like 16 different types of Christmas sugary cereal In my card that I was checking out with And I'm like, they're not for him They're for me

02:52:08 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that when they do this Like Elf on the Shelf Like the first year that Elf on the Shelf was around

02:52:15 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 1:

Which it's been out for a while

02:52:17 - 02:52:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean it was around when my kids were younger But do you think that they didn't think it was going to be that big of a deal? Like, I can't believe that people are suckers buying this little thing. And now they're like, we're going to have Elf on the Shelf Land. Come down to our Elf on the Shelf Land.

02:52:37 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 1:

I will be there. I'll buy the merch.

02:52:39 - 02:52:54 | Speaker 2:

They'll have it. Where would Elf on the Shelf Land be? Would it be in Frankenmuth? Like, why have they not had an Elf on the Shelf? I don't know, like why do they not have Elf on the Shelf birthday parties? Like theme birthday parties.

02:52:54 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure people do that. You think so? I'm sure that if you have a Christmas birthday Every mom is screaming at you, don't add something else!

02:53:01 - 02:53:09 | Speaker 3:

Right, exactly. If candy corn was on the shelf all year, I'd never eat it. But because it only comes out and I see it on the shelf for a month or two, I'm like, oh, I gotta get my candy corn.

02:53:09 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, did you see the Funfetti candy corn this year? Bought it. Fun Fetti candy corn.

02:53:13 - 02:53:16 | Speaker 2:

What do you do with all this stuff? By the way, why are you not 8,000 pounds?

02:53:16 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 1:

I eat part of it, and then I'm like, this isn't really that good.

02:53:22 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 3:

Really, her big problem is she takes her kids grocery shopping. That's dangerous. That's true. Because they want everything.

02:53:28 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 1:

That's part of the problem, but only part of the problem.

02:53:30 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 2:

I remember when I was a kid that, and this is the case, you know, why they do this. Everything was always at the lower levels that you shouldn't have had. And my mom used to always put me in the cart. Can you believe I fit in the cart at one point? but she put me in the cart so I'd be higher up so I wouldn't see the stuff at the lower level that was the stuff that no parents ever wanted to buy for their kids. Have you ever seen how I

02:53:53 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 1:

grocery shop with Smith? No. Have you ever seen what he does? Every time. He lays on the bottom of the cart either on his back or on his stomach. That's how I shop with him. You're not supposed to do that. I'm aware but

02:54:05 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 2:

what do people do when they see your kid there I don't care. I did the same thing with Cecily. I don't know what it is about that bottom part. They love it. It makes me claustrophobic.

02:54:14 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 3:

But I'm also afraid they're going to get a finger caught in one of those steel wheels.

02:54:19 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 2:

They don't have the race car carts at your car owner?

02:54:21 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 1:

I'm not pushing that.

02:54:23 - 02:54:26 | Speaker 2:

Why? Because you won't drive a minivan and you won't push a race car cart.

02:54:26 - 02:54:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm not pushing the race car cart.

02:54:27 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 2:

The wheels are always all janked up. Yeah, but I got stuck in one of those when I was like 23. Wait, hold on. You got stuck in the race car cart?

02:54:38 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was like 10 o'clock at night. Obviously, all the activities had taken place and I was like, vroom, vroom, push me around, bitches.

02:54:45 - 02:54:47 | Unknown:

And I couldn't get back out.

02:54:48 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 3:

Hello, fire department.

02:54:51 - 02:54:57 | Speaker 2:

Will you call us up and tell us what is the little gimmicky seasonal item that you're a sucker for?

02:54:57 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Oreos. Any flavor of Oreos.

02:55:00 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, I drive my girlfriend crazy. I have to bring home every new flavor they try.

02:55:04 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 5:

What's the best and what's the worst of the flavors?

02:55:06 - 02:55:09 | Speaker 3:

Birthday cake is the best. Golden birthday cake.

02:55:09 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 4:

Smorios are pretty good. Carrot cake was good.

02:55:11 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 2:

Carrot cake was good.

02:55:13 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 5:

What's the worst?

02:55:15 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 4:

There was a coffee one they tried.

02:55:17 - 02:55:17 | Speaker 5:

Lemon?

02:55:17 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say lemon. I liked the lemon. I liked the lemon. I love lemon.

02:55:21 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 5:

Old people like the lemon. Come on. Old people are lemon people. You ever notice that? Like, any time that an old person likes something, they're like,

02:55:27 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 4:

All the kids want all the sour and citrus candies now. They don't want chocolate anymore.

02:55:32 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 5:

But not the lemon pastries or whatever the deal is. They won't touch any of that stuff. That's usually the stuff that grandma, you know, she brings as her item for Thanksgiving. You're like, great. Grandma brought lemon bars.

02:55:46 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no. Grandma brings the strawberry candies with the gooey centers. You hate them.

02:55:52 - 02:55:53 | Speaker 1:

What?

02:55:53 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 2:

You hate them? But I don't like jelly. Like anything that's filled, I don't like. Okay.

02:55:58 - 02:56:00 | Speaker 5:

Laura, what's going on? What are you a sucker for?

02:56:01 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 2:

All right. So my first thing, I want to comment real quick on the cart situation you guys were just talking about. Yes. My daughter will sit in the bottom section of the smaller cart. She'll, like, squeeze her little butt right down in there with her feet hanging over the front, and she's, like, squished in there. And I don't understand how it's comfortable, but she absolutely has to do it every time.

02:56:24 - 02:56:32 | Speaker 5:

Do you feel like people look at you like you're a bad mom when that happens? Like, why does she not just sit in there normally or walk next to you?

02:56:33 - 02:56:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. No, she's nine years old. She can definitely walk next to me, and I get stares from people all the time.

02:56:39 - 02:56:40 | Speaker 5:

Do old ladies, like, yell at you?

02:56:41 - 02:56:43 | Speaker 2:

I've never heard anybody yell at me.

02:56:44 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, sometimes the old people will get mad. You're going to hurt yourself. Your kids are going to hurt yourself. Go screw yourself, lady. Go eat lemon bars.

02:56:51 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. But, you know, for the holiday things, I am a sucker for, at Halloween time, they have the pumpkin cookies. I think they're by, like, Little Debbie. They're shaped like a jack-o'-lantern, and it's got, like, that pumpkin filling in it.

02:57:08 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm.

02:57:09 - 02:57:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. They're good. I bought, like, three boxes of them, and I had one so the kids wouldn't eat it, and I ate them all myself.

02:57:16 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 4:

I can't even go into Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's is the worst. Trader Joe's at Halloween and Christmas. They have so many products. Oh, so many products.

02:57:25 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, it's funny. Don't you think this all started back in the day with McDonald's doing the Shamrock Shake? Honestly, I feel like that was the OG. They were the first ones that started doing it. And then Spike's Boo Berry cereal and stuff like that, that became like the big one there where, oh, man, wait, we can do it for the season? Oh, this is great. And like 15, 20 years ago, they started the Starbucks drinks. Well, no, and then Starbucks jumped on with the pumpkin spice and then the holiday spice type stuff. And now everybody's got it. What's going on? Anna, hello.

02:58:00 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I feel like this is going to be unpopular after your lemon bars comment. But I really love Clementines, and I feel like they're only around during the Christmas time.

02:58:12 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 5:

You mean the little oranges?

02:58:14 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 1:

They're around all the time. Yeah. The cuties? Yeah.

02:58:17 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Yeah. I like Clementines, too. That's not old people fruit, but you're calling about fruit. We're talking about- Yeah, no. Yeah, no.

02:58:25 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, unless that fruit is covered in a peppermint bark with chocolate and mint candy canes.

02:58:29 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I love candy apples and things like that. And when I went to the store to go look at candy, now they make candy apples for the holidays.

02:58:38 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. They just have different colored sprinkles.

02:58:39 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they put on red and green sprinkles on there, and they try to make them Christmassy.

02:58:44 - 02:58:51 | Speaker 4:

I went in Kroger yesterday across the street for yogurt. I came out with the Hershey Kisses candy cane. Those are good. Those are the best. Bill?

02:58:52 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up, man?

02:58:53 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

02:58:55 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 3:

All right, I remember back in the day before weed was legal, the medical stuff. During Christmas, they had Christmas, but they smell and taste like Christmas trees.

02:59:05 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 4:

They have Christmas weed?

02:59:07 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 3:

What'd they do, add some evergreen?

02:59:09 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you put a little juniper in there. For real?

02:59:11 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 3:

They grew it next to the pine trees. I don't know, but it was only around Christmas time, man. Wow.

02:59:17 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 5:

We didn't have a Santa certificate. I had no idea. So they had weed. So the weed shops also have this?

02:59:25 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 4:

Bill, I do. Bill, you sure you weren't high and you were smoking incense? Dude, that's potpourri. Leave that stuff out.

02:59:33 - 02:59:40 | Speaker 3:

Hey, listen, man. Ask the true stoner from back in the day. They'll let you know. That's right. We talked about this medical stuff.

02:59:40 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 4:

Right? That's nice. It smells nice. Leaves it lingering.

02:59:43 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 5:

Andy, what's your favorite holiday item?

02:59:48 - 02:59:53 | Speaker 2:

Every year, as soon as they come out, I stock up on those Cadbury eggs that they're in. Oh, yeah.

02:59:54 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 4:

Cadbury eggs are great. We were all mad, though, a couple years ago. Classic. It changed the flavor, the product a couple years ago.

03:00:00 - 03:00:10 | Speaker 3:

couple years ago it's just not the same the mini ones i feel taste the same oh the mini ones i get all the bags of but the big ones i think you're right i do think they changed the recipe or

03:00:10 - 03:00:21 | Speaker 1:

something with it and it's good they sell them only individual too because i can't you you do two of those things and you're in a coma it's bad oh yeah you can eat more than two for sure

03:00:21 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 4:

they're so good do you ever get those orange chocolate balls i knew that you were gonna say They have those at Trader Joe's all the time.

03:00:28 - 03:00:31 | Speaker 1:

What are the orange chocolate balls for what holiday?

03:00:31 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 5:

Christmas. Really? You have to get it in your stocking at the Mech household. And then you have to smash them to open them. And then they kind of like peel into little mini orange peels. Yes. But in our family, the tradition is not to hit it on a table. You have to hit it on a person.

03:00:45 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Yes.

03:00:48 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 1:

Do you have to beat each other to eat? Do you ever get hurt?

03:00:51 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes, Merry Christmas. He has a bruise and some chocolate.

03:00:54 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Lee, what's up?

03:00:56 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

03:00:57 - 03:00:58 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Lee. What's your favorite?

03:00:59 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 3:

So I love, I normally hate jelly beans, but now at Easter time, they have the Starburst jelly beans.

03:01:06 - 03:01:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Those are good. And they taste like the bigger Starburst.

03:01:10 - 03:01:11 | Speaker 4:

I think they have those for Christmas, too.

03:01:11 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 1:

Do they really? What flavors do they have?

03:01:13 - 03:01:14 | Speaker 4:

I think so. I think it's just colors.

03:01:14 - 03:01:15 | Speaker 1:

Is it? Hang on.

03:01:15 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 3:

And then you can also find at Easter bags of them that are just the red and pink ones. Yeah. So I used to have to pull those out because those are always my favorite.

03:01:24 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:01:25 - 03:01:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:01:25 - 03:01:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they do have them for the holiday.

03:01:27 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 1:

You stuff those in stockings, right? That's always kind of a fun thing to do. What's up, Cheryl?

03:01:34 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. How are you?

03:01:35 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 1:

We're doing okay. What's going on?

03:01:38 - 03:01:40 | Speaker 3:

I am obsessed with Easter Peeps.

03:01:41 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Really? Peeps? Yes. You know that they make them for more than just Easter now.

03:01:45 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 4:

That's every holiday as well now.

03:01:47 - 03:01:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, which is stupid.

03:01:48 - 03:01:53 | Speaker 3:

I actually open them up, let them get stale overnight, and then I eat them.

03:01:53 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 4:

What's wrong with you? So you've got to get the trees or the snowmen for Christmas.

03:01:57 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:01:58 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 4:

I'm in. And they have candy cane actual Peeps, too. Gingerbread ones. I've got them all.

03:02:02 - 03:02:03 | Speaker 1:

They're good.

03:02:03 - 03:02:04 | Speaker 4:

Why do you hate your life?

03:02:04 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 1:

No, they're good. Smoking pine trees. Do you ever put Peeps in your hot chocolate?

03:02:10 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no.

03:02:11 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 1:

So they have Peeps, and you put them in the hot chocolate like they're marshmallows.

03:02:14 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever put them in the microwave? They get humongous.

03:02:16 - 03:02:24 | Speaker 1:

You know what my favorite, honestly, holiday thing was? What? A couple years ago was the hot chocolate balls. Yeah. Oh, the cocoa balls? Yeah. They still have them.

03:02:24 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 4:

I love the bombs. The bombs, yeah.

03:02:26 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 1:

Those were kind of cool, like where you put it in a cup.

03:02:28 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 4:

Those were big like two, three years ago. It was like a thing.

03:02:31 - 03:02:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, everybody was like all into them. I always got the cheap ones that never melted, never opened.

03:02:36 - 03:02:38 | Speaker 5:

You should try bath bombs. They would blow your mind.

03:02:39 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 2:

Not in your hot chocolate.

03:02:40 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 1:

In a cup.

03:02:41 - 03:02:45 | Speaker 5:

Could you imagine him in a bath with a bath bomb? I'm not going to lie. I would love to see that. Can I tell you something?

03:02:46 - 03:03:00 | Speaker 1:

I know a doctor that tells the kids never use the bath bombs unless you clean your kids up afterwards. Because kids have been getting infections, like urinary tract infections and infections in their pee-pee.

03:03:00 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 4:

You've got to stand up and rinse them off. Because of the bath bombs.

03:03:03 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 1:

There's all those chemicals in the things. To hold it together. Yeah. So they were talking about that. Somebody said that Werner's makes holiday flavors.

03:03:10 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 4:

They do have luxury and it's so good. Sorry. It is good. I tried it a couple of weeks ago. I like it.

03:03:16 - 03:03:27 | Speaker 2:

I was just trying Megan's Red Bull. They have a winter edition fig apple Red Bull and I don't like energy drinks. This is really good. It's so good. I can't wait to add some rum to that.

03:03:27 - 03:03:34 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you, though, Coca-Cola, because of the commercials back in the day when we were younger, like the Coca-Cola commercials, those were like the best commercials.

03:03:34 - 03:03:35 | Speaker 4:

With the Santa?

03:03:36 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, the Christmas Cokes, for some reason, in a can, too. They'd have like the polar bear on the side. Yes. They tasted better. I don't think they did, but in my head, they tasted better. I don't know why I get excited, but I do. If I go to a Starbucks or Tim Hortons, and they've got the Christmassy kind of cups and stuff, it just puts you in a good spirit.

03:03:54 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 4:

You want some off-on-the-shelf cereal? Got a box for you. I'll be honest with you.

03:04:00 - 03:04:08 | Speaker 1:

It doesn't excite me. You know what I mean? I don't know. To me, it's like, unless it tastes like another cereal. Does it taste like anything else?

03:04:08 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 4:

The green and red one taste kind of like Froot Loops.

03:04:12 - 03:04:22 | Speaker 2:

All cereals taste the same now. They're just in different shapes and colors. It's like Taco Bell. They have the same four ingredients. Let's just make shaping it into something different. Virtual in the Morning's Top Trending Stories.

03:04:23 - 03:04:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Last 20 minutes here, frustrated with our internet here in the building. It's so bad. It's like, I don't know what the story is, but I've been trying to play for you guys this news story. I don't know. Did you guys, I don't know if you watched in the Detroit area, Local 4. Karen Drew has done this story the last couple of nights that has been like unbelievable. Pet alligators are the rage in Michigan. however many of these reptiles are killed or abandoned when they start getting too big so local ford did an investigation and they found that alligators for sale

03:05:00 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 2:

happened at an expo that they did a hidden camera thing at in kalamazoo and now they're finding out that there are other places selling them including like people selling them online you can buy baby alligators but the animal control people say that you got to be careful the problem is if you buy these things you got to understand they turn into they do turn into bigger alligators and if they turn into bigger alligators what are you going to do and the problem is there are people that if they get bigger they don't just go oh crap what did i do you know i'm going to find the humane society or i'm going to try to see what i can do with it they just let them go and they let them out like in normal you know areas that could be your neighborhood what would you do imagine and honestly our climate is not good for them but still it's also not good for these alligators to all of a sudden come up and scare the crap out of you like in your front yard or you let your dog out to pee yeah it was a pretty good investigation i wish i had the audio to to

03:06:00 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 5:

play for you but could you imagine like if one was in your yard and your kid came in and was like mom there's an alligator in the backyard you don't believe them and then you go see there really is

03:06:09 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 2:

karen drew can you do one of the investigations on our company and why we pay such crappy service for our internet like honestly the company that we get internet from and cable from they should be paying us for not saying their name and it's not expensive i'm gonna say that um all right uh the fbi says that there is a national security problem on your phone right now and that national security problem tiktok if you if you're a tiktok user this by the way you laugh this is the fbi Director Christopher Wray, who warned lawmakers on Capitol Hill that allowing TikTok to continue operating in the United States could pose a threat to national security. I would say we do have

03:06:57 - 03:07:28 | Speaker 1:

national security concerns, at least from the FBI's end, about TikTok. They include the possibility that the Chinese government could use it to control data collection on millions of users or control the recommendation algorithm, which could be used for influence operations if they so chose, or to control software on millions of devices, which gives that opportunity to potentially technically compromise personal devices. Ray actually went on to say that he

03:07:28 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 2:

wouldn't discuss further or give more details about where he believes that some of the problems could become a problem when it comes to not just our personal information, but could be like a security defense problem but he needed a private session of congress to do it because he said that the information that they have on on tiktok and what they're doing is so like secret secret that if he tells the chinese government the details that they already know the chinese government might actually try to change things up to get caught and one of the biggest things is that we

03:08:04 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 3:

actually give permission to the app to access everything when we click our you know terms and conditions and they're saying a lot of the people will use it on their phone and also have open their email and their big corporation company projects or their government they work for the government and they have their stuff open and tiktok at the same time i'm not laughing because

03:08:24 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 4:

it's ridiculous i'm laughing because this has been going on for the last 20 years anyways with all social media platforms and smartphones so like yeah these companies already had remember when everybody was doing that one facial app where you could age yourself and it was just giving some Russian corporation all of our information this happens all the time well I'm gonna say this

03:08:43 - 03:09:21 | Speaker 2:

that they need to stop tiktok for one reason no and it's trends like this a trend is spreading spreading fast among users on tiktok that promises better sleep at night but health experts warn that if you do this you actually could kill yourself it's called uh mouth taping a trend That has become popular on TikTok It involves taping your lips shut To stop from mouth breathing at night Videos are being posted all over the place Of TikTok influencers Showing that they've done this And it's caused for them to have better sleep

03:09:21 - 03:09:21 | Speaker 5:

I just

03:09:21 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 2:

I mean come on We thought Tide Pods were stupid How dumb are you to do stuff like this?

03:09:27 - 03:09:32 | Speaker 4:

The people that are doing it Are just taping the center You can still breathe out the sides of your nose What's wrong?

03:09:33 - 03:09:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh have you done this? You did it

03:09:34 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh, we know who tried it

03:09:37 - 03:09:38 | Speaker 4:

I don't know what's wrong with it

03:09:38 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 2:

I thought that you went and graduated from University of Toledo

03:09:41 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 4:

Barely I snore a lot I would do anything to keep myself from snoring with a partner Would you? Anything Maybe going to the doctor instead of taping your mouth No, because you know what they're going to make me do They're going to make me wear a CPAP And I'm not doing that That's even less sexy than snoring Not all the time

03:09:57 - 03:09:58 | Speaker 2:

Have you

03:09:58 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

There's lots of other sex

03:09:59 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever slept

03:10:00 - 03:10:05 | Speaker 1:

over at a guy's house and you were so worried that you were going to snore that you stayed up all night because you didn't want him to hear you snoring?

03:10:05 - 03:10:08 | Speaker 4:

I was so worried I was going to fart. I went home with a damn stomach ache and on no sleep.

03:10:09 - 03:10:12 | Speaker 1:

Did you tape your butthole so that he couldn't hear you fart?

03:10:12 - 03:10:15 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. Also not recommended.

03:10:16 - 03:11:46 | Speaker 1:

Middle class shoppers are pinched by the high inflation so they are now turning towards discount supermarkets in a huge way. Lifting the sales of places like Walmart and Dollar General. Did you guys know that bread at Walmart and Dollar General is half the price that the bread is at places like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's? And they actually found that in some cases that you go into, okay, this is wild. While bread and milk go for about $4.79 a gallon and $8.99 a gallon at Whole Foods, that same item at whole food at whole for a walmart or dollar general is actually less than three dollars a gallon for the milk and less than yeah less than four dollars a gallon for uh um for the milk interesting meat is also the same way too like same brands of meat dozen eggs on all of them which is caused for those stores to actually find an increase in people shopping there kids toys are now being faced with shrinkflation. So kids toys due to inflation are now getting smaller this year. And they're saying that parents aren't going to have to wrap as big items this year when it comes to some of their kids favorite toys because the toys are being smaller and actually the boxes, they're not using and wasting as much boxes because they're trying to make more money and it's costing them more money. I actually like that. I was going to say

03:11:46 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 4:

because sometimes getting those toys open with the layers upon layers of plastic is the biggest pain, so please simplify. Make them smaller. But it's not just the packaging. They're putting less things. It's the actual toy.

03:11:56 - 03:12:08 | Speaker 2:

I went and bought a little, I was like, I just want to get a little thing of Legos for somebody. And there's literally like four blocks in that thing. I'm like, what are you going to make for $10? Legos is like... Here, make a bigger block. Legos, anyway, are so

03:12:08 - 03:12:15 | Speaker 4:

expensive. They are. I don't understand why. Holy cow, that's what both of my kids want for Christmas. I cannot believe how expensive Legos are.

03:12:15 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. And yet, literally, they'll use more plastic to package another toy than they use to make the Legos that you just

03:12:21 - 03:13:21 | Speaker 1:

charged me $10 for. And this is bad news for anybody that is a pot smoker. Marijuana smokers are more likely to develop lung disease, including lung cancer, than cigarette users. A new study is countering the public perception that marijuana is safe to smoke. Researchers Found that the rates of emphysema, airwave inflammation, enlarged breast tissue, and cancer are higher among marijuana users that smoke than those that smoke strictly tobacco. And one of the big problems that they're saying is it's because you hold the smoke in your lungs longer than you do smoking a cigarette. So if you're going to take a hit off of any kind of, you know, marijuana, you're going to actually have that in your lungs for a longer period of time, causing you to actually have a negative or adverse reaction to it.

03:13:21 - 03:13:27 | Speaker 3:

I want you to know the only thing I heard was that people who smoke weed have bigger boobs. Much breast tissue.

03:13:28 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 1:

You go, you know, but aren't you more of an edible or no?

03:13:31 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

03:13:31 - 03:13:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I know that's not true. Yeah, it's not true at all. Do you really? But are you a weed pen? Is your dad listening?

03:13:40 - 03:13:53 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't care. I tell him everything. I try to get to smoke with him. He gets drug tested at work, so I can't wait until the day he retires. I'm going to get that man so blitzed. Anything I can get my hands on is my answer.

03:13:54 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 1:

I got to give you some of the stuff that sometimes people will give me. Sometimes people will say, hey, I want you to, like all my Chaldean friends, all of them have businesses. And so they'll go, hey, have you tried these edibles? Give Chelsea these edibles And then they'll give me like a big old joint Inside of like a little tube And it smells my car so bad I'm like I don't want those Like I don't do it First off I stopped completely Doing any edibles for a while Because the problem is I'd wake up starving And I'd eat my entire refrigerator But Chelsea Will take edibles every night to go to bed They give me these big old joints And I'm like Or the one guy gave me I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. A box, and inside the box, it smelled so bad. It was like, I don't know, fresh weed. I was never the type of person that knew what to do with stuff like that.

03:14:46 - 03:14:49 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes I lay it out like potpourri in the house.

03:14:49 - 03:14:50 | Speaker 1:

Do you really? Just so it smells good. Do you like the smell?

03:14:51 - 03:14:54 | Speaker 3:

I love the smell of weed. I love it. I think it smells so good.

03:14:54 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 1:

I walked into a restaurant the other day, and there was a table sitting at the restaurant.

03:15:00 - 03:15:07 | Speaker 6:

restaurant eating grandma grandpa and then the two grandkids no joke the grandkids smelled so

03:15:07 - 03:15:12 | Speaker 3:

much like weed the best part of thanksgiving are you sure is the grand was it the grandparents

03:15:12 - 03:16:08 | Speaker 6:

or the grandkids no i swear to god it was because the grandson got up i mean this guy looked like napoleon dynamite he he got up the kid got up walked to the bathroom walked by me i thought oh my god and i'm thinking to myself the grandparents had they were you know no problem Everything's cool. And they must have been like in their 70s. It was wild. They ate a lot that night too. Have a great day. We are done for today. Oh, by the way, can I just say this? I'm going to throw this out there.
