W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Mojo. Mojo. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

00:02:30 - 00:02:31 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:31 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:34 - 00:02:37 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo head. Here we go, go, go.

00:02:37 - 00:02:40 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. It's showtime!

00:03:00 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 5:

I got you. You turned me on. I got you. Welcome back, Kev. How are you? I'm feeling great, baby. Good to be home. Hey, welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. Thanksgiving week. We had our potluck yesterday. You missed out on what honestly might have been, and I don't know if they stepped up the game on this one because you called them out on the air last week. That potluck yesterday, no joke, it was good. It was the best we've ever had. Yeah. It was actually really good. Look at that. So I don't know if they, maybe we need to do this more often. Maybe we need to call out sales, which we call them out for today. Let's call them out for something right now.

00:04:06 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 4:

Does anybody see if I have any leftover cookies? You do. There's two over there. Hell yeah. It's a cookies for breakfast kind of morning.

00:04:13 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 5:

By the way, it was yesterday. One of the biggest hits at the ball was Megan's cookies. And then the other one was Lester's banana pudding. It's amazing.

00:04:24 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 4:

It's a tradition.

00:04:26 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 5:

Les does this banana pudding that is just to die for. And Tony Travato must have had like 28 helpings of it, too. I don't know where that guy puts it. He eats more sweets. That guy's got to be like close to diabetic. I don't know what the story is.

00:04:40 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 2:

Say it right. Say it right.

00:04:41 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 5:

He's got the diabetes.

00:04:43 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 2:

Sugars.

00:04:44 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 5:

The diabetes.

00:04:45 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 2:

There we go.

00:04:47 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

I hate him. I know. I hate him just to hate him. Yesterday, I learned this is how you get things done around here. You preface everything with, I got a huge list. This is going to be really tough.

00:05:00 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if you can handle all this stuff. And then I give him the list, and it was really not that bad. And he was like, that's not really that bad. And he handled everything by, like, 11 o'clock. I couldn't believe how fast it was. That's a sales technique. That is. Yeah. Just like you did with the potluck that we had here. Brendan was not going to get shown up by you. He was not going to have anybody get food poisoning, foodborne illness. There was no listeria at all in this place.

00:05:25 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 3:

If you buy all the food, then that lowers the chance of poisoning.

00:05:27 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 2:

That is true. Yes. Don't cook it in your homes.

00:05:31 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 3:

Unless you're FoodSafe certified.

00:05:33 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 2:

Unless you're, yes. I just want you to know. Only Red Robin does that.

00:05:34 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 5:

I just want you to know. I just want you to know. You'll never get anything I make ever, no matter how much you want it. I'd rather shove it on the ground.

00:05:44 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 3:

What will I do without your cookies?

00:05:46 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 6:

Go back to being sick. Oh, no.

00:05:52 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

No.

00:05:53 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

You are, by the way, an instigator. I realize this.

00:05:56 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 3:

You absolutely are. You're never leaving that alone.

00:05:59 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

Us girls got all along yesterday, and then you had to come in here. There was no drama. Daddy's home. No, I'm missing it. I actually am happy. I had to be on my best behavior. I was getting, like, quadruple teamed by everybody here. All right, we have our turkey shoot today. Get ready for that. That's going to be fun. Our Mojo in the Morning turkey shoot. It's an annual event where we fire off the turkey and give you something to put on your table And Mojo in the Morning Misfit Victor is going to be our turkey this morning. I believe that he may be driving on 96 on his way into the city. I don't know for sure. I hope so. But I talked to him yesterday, and I was very excited that he was going to be able to do this. And thank you to Victor again for allowing us this opportunity. And guess who's shooting? Just came up out of the blue. Shannon, Megan, and KP are going to be the shots. They're going to shoot for the listeners, kind of like we do with the Throwback Throwdown. They'll play for you guys. And you can be one of the three people that has a chance to win a $1,000 StubHub gift card, courtesy of Zot Ford and Holly and all of our friends over at Papa Romano's Pizza, which would be a great order for you guys tomorrow night before Thanksgiving, on the eve of Thanksgiving. We will be doing that at 7 o'clock-ish. Early. Yeah. Yeah, and I think, is it Lone Wolf Paintball, our good buddies from there, or who's the people that do this paintballing? They, in years past, have always brought lots of ammo, and I think we're going to have more ammo, too, so it's going to be good.

00:07:41 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 4:

I practiced last night. You feeling confident? With Smith's Nerf guns.

00:07:46 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:07:46 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 4:

Yep, just practiced, like, shooting a target so I could at least get my aim going. I'm not that good, but today I'm going to be good. I feel it. Okay.

00:07:54 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 2:

Today's the day. You say you practiced with Nerf guns, though? I did, yes.

00:07:59 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 4:

Just to be shooting something, that's all I got.

00:08:01 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 2:

You've got to be good with Nerf guns because you can't have any arc or anything like that because Nerf guns don't have, like...

00:08:05 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, not the ones now. They're, like, automatic.

00:08:08 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

Come on. Can they hurt you? Can they give you a concussion or something?

00:08:12 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

No, not...

00:08:13 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 2:

I mean, no. Oh. That would be kind of fun to play in the house.

00:08:16 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

They're not from, like, 1990 anymore.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 2:

I know. Well, the one...

00:08:19 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 4:

They've upgraded.

00:08:20 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 2:

Remember when Nerf guns became, like... Nerf guns, and I don't know if it's still like this for Christmas, but they were the best gift ever and then for some reason every kid would go to school january 3rd for the first day back with like a patch over his eye and then they realized mom straight bullets in the back mom realized that was not a great idea scott mick was not allowed

00:08:41 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 6:

to buy gifts for the grandkids anymore because he brought so many nerf guns to so many thanksgivings

00:08:46 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 3:

and christmases that it became a problem i love that look all i can think about when you say the three of you are going to be shooting is i think it was earlier this year last year kp when you went hunting with your brother right and she's all in camp did you bring the camo oh no nothing

00:09:04 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 1:

is going to help me be better than megan today oh wow i actually was considering wearing some camo pants but i didn't want to overdo it you know okay sometimes when you overdo it when you get overdressed not hinting at shannon or anything you end up not hitting anything for me i did this

00:09:20 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 6:

not even thinking about it. That actually is very funny. I want Victor to see me coming. I want him to be scared.

00:09:26 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 1:

I am so excited for Megan to finally get to let out all of this Victor angst. It's going to be fantastic. I didn't start it. Just like with Kev. I didn't start it. I'll finish it.

00:09:38 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 2:

You never do. Now we're starting to realize that Megan's got some guys that for some reason have issues.

00:09:43 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 3:

Listen, Megan is the hit you and then hide my hand and start crying when you hit her back.

00:09:50 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 5:

You just admitted to instigating all of this five minutes ago.

00:09:54 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 3:

She's the sister that goes, mom, dad. Megan can do this, but she's a little sweetheart.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

I'll go home.

00:10:00 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I really don't care.

00:10:01 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 2:

See, do we have any hunters that are listening right now? I know deer hunting's been going on, and I know my buddy Tom, Tom the trainer, was telling me that he went up north, and he said that the bucks are bigger than ever right now. He says he doesn't understand what's going on. You know what it is? I think they're eating people's food at their homes. Like, they're eating people food now, so they're growing bigger than ever. And he said the points were, like, ridiculous. And they're plentiful. There was a lot of deer that were out there. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. KP, your brother is in studio with us this morning. Is this the brother that you went hunting with?

00:10:41 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 3:

No, this is Aiden. He's in high school. Aaron is in college, and he's one of the top of the hunts.

00:10:47 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 2:

Aiden, have you ever had a chance to go hunting at all? Is it a family tradition with the guys?

00:10:51 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 3:

No, I've never gone hunting, but I want to. I'm going to get a hunting license.

00:10:55 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

You have to because you live in Lake Orient. Yeah. If you live in Lake Oregon and don't have camo, a pickup truck, and, I don't know, maybe deer antlers in your house, then you're going to get kicked out of there. They move you a few blocks away to Auburn Hills or something. No, that's a rule. Yeah? So it is kind of the thing. Like, you have to fit in. Like, I couldn't live in Lake Oregon. It's a beautiful community. I've looked at it often. Like, hey, this would be a cool place, especially on Lake Oregon. It's a gorgeous lake. Yeah. They would kick a guy out like me. They'd look at me, and they would see my Peter Millar, and they would say, excuse me. Peter Millar! The golf course is down the street. You know what I mean? Like, it wouldn't work, so. Are you off from school already? Do schools get out for the holidays? No, I'm actually skipping today. Yeah! Okay, all right, I like this. And I understand you're doing community service, so if your teachers are listening right now, your community service hours are hanging out here and helping break and entering Christmas wedge.

00:11:48 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love that.

00:11:49 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

This is proof. That is cool.

00:11:50 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 3:

We borrowed his muscle today. We needed him to carry all these gifts for Lydia.

00:11:54 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. By the way, mojoswish.org, if you have a wish that you would like to get granted, mojoswish.org. We would love to try to grant your wish, and we're reading through wishes. I think that Lydia and myself, Shannon, Kev, who else has been a part of this whole thing? I think a bunch of us. Megan. Megan, yeah. My wife, Chelsea. Everybody's been doing it, reading these letters and just picking out wishes that we will start granting. and next week is when you'll start hearing them on the radio. No hunters that are up this early in the morning? Anybody listen to us while they're in a deer blind? Because I want to get some advice, if we could, before we go anywhere for Shannon and Megan and KP on what's good. I do like the idea of hunting. Like, I do think it would be kind of fun when I hear these guys that go up there and they eat nothing but a bunch of bad food and they have some drinks and they kind of sit out. But then I go, the temperature control, like, you know, you really don't have temperature control. Most of the food's got gluten, you know what I mean? You're not a beer tanker. And I only have one Carhartt sweatshirt. And it was the one that they gave us last year when they gave us that free bundle of clothes. Yeah, shout out to Carhartt. Like, why is it that they don't make hunting gear that's quarter zip, you know? Like, why is there no quarter zip camo or something like that? I don't know. I'm a little crazy. Text her here. Oh, we got Hunter Steve. Hunter Steve 248 says, Shannon, Nerf guns are going to actually throw you off because of the weight of the Nerf gun compared to the weight of probably what the gun that we're going to use.

00:13:40 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I'm joking.

00:13:41 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 2:

She was doing it for, oh, that was a total joke. Okay.

00:13:43 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 1:

I understand.

00:13:44 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. 616, yes, Nerf guns do hurt. My kids were sent to the hospital three times with a Nerf gun accident. Mojo in the Morning, hello. Do we have a hunter on the phone with us?

00:13:57 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 1:

We do.

00:13:58 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Who is this?

00:14:00 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

James.

00:14:01 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 2:

James the Hunter. And are you currently in a deer blind?

00:14:06 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 1:

I am not. I'm currently on my way to work.

00:14:08 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay, tell us, what kind of advice can you give the beautiful women of the Mojo in the Morning show on attacking this turkey this morning?

00:14:15 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Go for the face

00:14:18 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Go for the face Is that where you gotta get him Cause you gotta get him between the eyes

00:14:24 - 00:14:30 | Speaker 1:

You normally wanna shoot for the body But it's Miss fit Victor so I'm not

00:14:30 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 3:

I think that is our one rule Is no face We've said that in the past

00:14:36 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 2:

But I don't think we did last year for Victor I think Victor got nailed in the head Joe the Hunter is on with us now What's up Joe how you doing doing good how you guys doing fantastic joe we're hanging out this morning getting ready in less than 40 minutes for our mojo in the morning annual turkey shoot for lions tickets what's going on what kind of advice can you give Don't deep fry the chicken in the back part. Deep fry the, what is it?

00:15:04 - 00:15:05 | Unknown:

What?

00:15:07 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 3:

You ever see those videos of them boiling the chicken in those. You're listening to the wrong show.

00:15:13 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. No, maybe, maybe what show are you, who are you listening to? When you take the turkey. Okay. Oh, but we're not talking, we're, we're hunting for the turkey today. We're not preparing it yet. Are you talking about.

00:15:25 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 3:

I just woke up. I just woke up and I don't even know what the topic is.

00:15:29 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so you're just calling up out of the blue. You're just calling up. You tuned in to us, and you said, I'll call up. But you said, are you not a hunter or no? No, I am a hunter. Okay. Shannon, KP, and Megan are going to be shooting the turkeys today. We just wanted to get some advice for them on how to get the turkey.

00:15:49 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, what are they shooting it with?

00:15:50 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 2:

They're shooting it with paintball guns. Oh, my gosh.

00:15:52 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, I got to go.

00:15:53 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. How did that guy get through? You know what it is? It's first calls of the day, and there's lack of calls probably right now. I'm hanging up on that guy. All right. Did everybody take off this week? By the way, didn't I always say that we should take off Thanksgiving week? Like the entire week, we should just next. Can we next year just take off the entire week?

00:16:11 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 3:

The following message is for turkeys only. Remain on this frequency for further instructions. This is Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:27 - 00:16:48 | Speaker 2:

All right, this was the year that, you've got to give me more than just, it says, Shirley Caesar told the congregation what's on the menu. I feel like when I do these ones that are like news stories like this, they're not stuff that people will go, oh, I remember that year off of that. That's why we have two other clues. Okay.

00:16:49 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 5:

I got beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, lamb, rams, hogs, dogs, chicken, Now I get why we play that.

00:17:01 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 2:

Will Ferrell starred in The House. Underground Casino.

00:17:06 - 00:17:06 | Unknown:

00:17:07 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. Happy Thanksgiving.

00:19:33 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 4:

Heidi Ho!

00:19:36 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 2:

She's not a ho. You are not a ho. Oh, not Miss Heidi.

00:20:44 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so some new details on the tragic death of Liam Payne. Apparently, he was trying to escape from his hotel room when he fell to his death. And the hotel staff was very aware that he had threatened to use the balcony as means of busting out. He hated being holed up in hotel rooms. And I saw some photos and surveillance video going around yesterday of Liam, which, for the record, I don't think should have been released. But, I mean, he was either high on something or heavily intoxicated, being dragged through the hotel lobby by the staff at this Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires. They had him, like, by the arms. And he was like laying down. So they had picked him up and had him by the arms. And that's how they got him back up to his room. When they got to his room, he fought back. He clearly did not want to go inside of his room. And you could hear one employee on the video saying, I don't know whether his life may be in danger. He's in a room with a balcony. And I'm a little bit afraid. And the hotel ultimately decided to leave Liam in his room by himself. And we know how that ended. And here's the other thing. When Argentinian authorities discovered his body, he had a bag, like a satchel, strapped over his shoulder, which he did not have on him when he was being carried through the lobby. A hat was found near his body that he also was not wearing earlier in the day, meaning he must have put that on inside of the room. So what police think happened is that he was attempting to leave his room by going from his third floor balcony, excuse me, to a second floor balcony. And then he was going to jump to the ground because it was closer. The coroner said Liam may have been unconscious when he fell, but he appears to have been very much conscious just before he fell because he gathered that hat and that bag. um argentinian police are still investigating the final days of his life and they do believe he was partying with prostitutes went on a drug-fueled bender that obviously culminated in that fatal fall just really really terrible story the judge overseeing donald trump's election interference case totally dismissed that case yesterday after special special counsel jack smith asked the judge to toss the case due to a longstanding Justice Department policy that bans the prosecution of a sitting president. And that case is probably never going to come up again because it's pretty unlikely that any prosecutor would attempt to bring the same charges in the future, in part because the statute of limitations for these alleged crimes will have expired by the time trump leaves office in four years demure a word that gained viral fame on tiktok has been named dictionary.com's 2024 word of the year if my daughter says this one more time she's very

It is. Because the Lions, the Tigers, maybe the Pistons, and then of course, you know, we won a championship, Michigan won a championship last year, so.

Good, how are you?

00:26:41 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 3:

Good. Two weeks from today, and I've got nothing to wear. All these guys, or these girls are, when I say guys, the girls are like, I don't know anything to wear. I don't know what I'm going to wear. I don't know what I'm going to wear. Or I got something. And every one of the guys on the show are going to get scrutinized for the fact that we're just going to come, hang out, look good, you know? Right?

00:27:02 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I mean, after we got talked about so badly last year for our quote-unquote lack of effort and lack of trying, I thought that this year would be different. But as we get closer to the day, I'm feeling more loungy. So I don't know yet.

00:27:15 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 1:

You have a great red jacket that would be perfect. We've talked about this.

00:27:19 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if I'm feeling red, though.

00:27:21 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 3:

What if we could get good old-fashioned? Are there still President tuxedos around? What if we can get in the men's warehouse to sponsor us for the iHeartRadio Music Festival?

00:27:35 - 00:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Pull up like the Rat Pack?

00:27:36 - 00:27:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What do you think about that?

00:27:37 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 2:

The little Sammy Davis thing going on?

00:27:39 - 00:27:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, instead of the Rat Pack, we'll call him the Zach Pack. Wait, I know who you're going to be. You're Sammy Davis, right?

00:27:46 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 2:

There's a little Sammy Davis going on.

00:27:47 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 3:

Which one am I then? Am I like Frank or am I Dean Martin? Let's go Dean. Let's go Dean. All right. And then Zach is going to be Frank. There we go. You got it. We're all set. Jessica's going. We have not seen the turkey?

00:35:46 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 2:

No, the turkey's trying to find a parking spot.

00:35:48 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 6:

00:36:11 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 6:

It was his first crush that he had as a pre-pubescent, if not post-pubescent boy, and he used to be the bus boy at the restaurant that he

00:36:25 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 5:

double entendre

00:36:27 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 6:

don't say anything yet don't say anything mystery guest stay right there stay right there because this is actually really good Victor we did this as a special treat Victor Victor is going to get excited over this one so alright we'll check with you in just a second it's Mojo in the morning show Kev back from chaperoning yes I had my chaperone

00:36:48 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 5:

yesterday Kev by the way

00:36:50 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 6:

is never allowed to chaperone ever again. And I want everybody to listen up to this. Kevin fell asleep while chaperoning for Josiah's field trip.

00:37:01 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't think that was a bad thing, though. It's not like we were doing anything physically demanding. Like, if we were walking around a museum or I had to, like, literally follow kids or watch kids and I fell asleep, then I think we could have a conversation. We went to the movies yesterday. What better place to fall asleep than in the theater?

00:37:18 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 3:

That's when the kids are bad.

00:37:20 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they were bad as hell.

00:37:21 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 3:

See? Because you were sleeping.

00:37:23 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Middle school is not how it used to be. Now, I'm one of those parents where I want to give the children free license to act up a little bit. Because that's what you do when you're on field trips. You let your hair down. You get a little wild. You get a little crazy. When you're in class and you're locked up, so to speak, that's when you have to be quiet. When you're on a field trip, it's your chance to break free. It's your chance to break loose. And I don't want to be the parent. Everybody's like, damn, who daddy is that? Then they're like, that's Josiah daddy. You know, just let Sia get picked on.

00:37:50 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 6:

So I'm letting the kids act up a little bit. How are you letting the kids act up a little bit when you don't even know if they're acting up? You're sleeping the entire time.

00:37:57 - 00:38:27 | Speaker 5:

My role wasn't at a level 10. First off, I thought I was just chaperoning or chaperoning Josiah's class. Now, here's two things that came to my mind. One thing, I thought I was just chaperoning Josiah's class. So I thought it was only going to be maybe max 30 kids. Okay. It wasn't. It was like 70 kids. It was 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade, and then it was some 10th graders throwing in there too. So when I pull up to the school and I'm thinking we're getting on one bus and I see three buses there, I'm like, oh, damn, this is more than what I signed up for. That's first off.

00:38:28 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 4:

Is there a limit to your chaperone?

00:38:30 - 00:38:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes. In my mind, you think you're going to just handle one class and you show up and it's like five classes? My mind is completely gone.

00:38:37 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 4:

But don't you have a group? I thought I had a group. You're not chaperone at all 70.

00:38:40 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 5:

Listen, it wasn't that organized. It wasn't like, hey, Kev, these are your 30 kids. It wasn't like that.

00:38:45 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 4:

Like these are your six kids.

00:38:47 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 5:

No, it wasn't like that.

00:38:48 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 6:

It was just, you weren't responsible for anybody. Exactly. Specifically.

00:38:52 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 5:

I wasn't pointed out. Exactly. It was kind of like all the parents are here for all the kids. Yeah.

00:38:57 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 6:

I, I, I'd love to know it. First off, I'd love to know as a kid, do you ever remember a chaperone getting themselves into trouble or like losing a kid? Or have you ever been that chaperone? I've chaperoned all kinds of different things. I know Shannon just recently chaperoned an event for Lucy. The worst chaperoning of any of them are the ones that Shannon just did, which is, I've done too, the overnight stuff. You did that? Because I did overnight in New York and overnight in Mackinac. That's right. It's horrible. Yeah.

00:39:24 - 00:39:28 | Speaker 3:

And she's already tapped me for Washington, D.C. Oh, that's brutal. In eighth grade. Overnight is crazy.

00:39:28 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 6:

But could you imagine if you fell asleep while you were chaperoning?

00:39:31 - 00:39:40 | Speaker 3:

I just feel like the movie, like, they probably weren't even at Red. They were at Gladiator. I saw a different movie than the one you were sleeping at.

00:39:40 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 6:

Jennifer's a teacher. What would you do if one of your chaperones fell asleep while chaperoning?

00:39:46 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

Kevin, you are why we can't have nice things. What did I do? Slap. So, and I say that, I totally say, you cannot fall asleep. They are middle school children. What did you think they were going to do in the dark?

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:39:59 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's nasty.

00:40:00 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 6:

No, they do not let their hair down and, oh, you act up. No, you represent the whole school. You represent me. I did not raise a bunch of fools to act like that.

00:40:11 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:40:11 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 6:

You're blacklist. You are on the blacklist. I'm going to find out where Josiah is from. Let them know.

00:40:18 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 3:

Did they notice at all that you were sleeping? I don't think so. Were you snore sleeping? I wasn't. Oh, they knew.

00:40:23 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 7:

Josiah said I was breathing heavily. That's what he said.

00:40:27 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 3:

Miss Jen, Miss Teacher here right now. Have you ever had a chaperone screw up and lose a kid when you were going on any kind of field trips?

00:40:36 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 6:

I did, but we're not going to talk about that.

00:40:40 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 3:

I remember one of the field trips that Chelsea went on, one of the dads, and it's always a dad that screws this whole thing up. The dad ended up getting in trouble because the dad was paying more attention to the other moms than paying attention to the kids. So finally had to get reprimanded by the principal.

00:40:59 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, one of the moms on this trip we're paying attention to.

00:41:02 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 3:

Really?

00:41:03 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 6:

Kev, not only were your kids getting frisky, you were trying to get frisky, too. The kids were not getting frisky. I promise you, as a junior high kid who went on a field trip, yes, they were.

00:41:15 - 00:41:21 | Speaker 7:

I wasn't manning the back row, so I don't know what was going on over there. But the middle section, we was good. For the 10 minutes I was like.

00:41:21 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 3:

You are a bad influence. Hold on. Actually, Misfit Victor, you just recently, we got him on the phone with us. He recently was on a field trip where he was chaperoning. You're probably never getting invited back because you were a pain in the butt, weren't you?

00:41:36 - 00:42:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it was the biggest waste of time ever in the history of the world. I mean, we took these kids to Washington, D.C., and had eight kids, and I think five of them will be in prison by the time they're 22. Oh, boy. Easily. Like, we get to Gettysburg, and I'm like, you kids study about Gettysburg at all? No. We go to all these war memorials. You guys ever study about this war? No. So I told the organizer, I said, why are we here? These kids know nothing about this. Next year, just go to Cedar Point. This is just a waste of time and money. Oh, my God. They're too happy with me. Oh, you can't drink beer. You can't drink beer while you're a chaperone.

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Unknown:

What am I supposed to do?

00:42:16 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Cap, did you have any alcohol from the Imagine Bar at all? They closed it, unfortunately. Victor, I got a surprise for you when you come in studio for our turkey shoot

00:42:27 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I can't wait I'm so excited right now

00:42:31 - 00:42:35 | Speaker 3:

Your first crush is in studio with us

00:42:35 - 00:42:37 | Speaker 4:

Brad Galley's there?

00:42:40 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 3:

Maddie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning, hi

00:42:42 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you?

00:42:45 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 3:

Good, what's happening?

00:42:47 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 5:

When I went to 5th grade camp my grandpa chaperoned and he taught his cabin how to play poker. Oh, no. Oh, no. That is so good. Life skills. Oh, that is so good.

00:42:59 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 3:

Did he get in trouble for that? Like, did somebody say anything?

00:43:02 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, but also two years later when he took my sister, there was, like, a kissing scandal that he had to deal with with the kids.

00:43:10 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. That's crazy. Yeah, that's the thing you've got to worry about, especially with those middle schoolers. What's up, George? Hi.

00:43:20 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey. Mojo, I just wanted to say hi back to Kevin. We missed him yesterday. He already got some all hyped up this morning. What's up, man? Isn't he the best?

00:43:27 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 3:

Isn't he crazy? Yeah, he was actually allegedly chaperoning Josiah's field trip. He was taking a nice nap.

00:43:35 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I missed him, man.

00:43:36 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 3:

I know.

00:43:37 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, brother. Welcome back, brother.

00:43:39 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 3:

Appreciate it, my man. By the way, I wouldn't let Kevin chaperone Megan going anywhere. Those two together would get themselves arrested. All right, we'll talk to you later, buddy. See you, George.

00:43:52 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 2:

All right, bye. All right. See you, bye.

00:43:53 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 3:

The Mojo in the Morning annual turkey shoot in the War of the Roses.

00:44:02 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 1:

If turkeys go extinct and we start eating roadkill on Thanksgiving, I got dibs on the raccoon. Happy Thanksgiving. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:44:10 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

i feel like this is such an annual tradition on our show that can never stop it's almost as if this tradition is as great as loading up your f-150 heading up north with your friends sitting around in a deer blind and enjoying yourself trying to get yourself a little venison chili right except for this is our annual thanksgiving tradition where this morning on the show we're gonna be shooting a turkey uh it's mojo in the morning show and this was the weirdest part of this whole thing we're coming to you live from our new studios which yes are in eastern market in downtown detroit so they're no longer in the city

00:45:00 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 1:

suburbs. And so it was, how are we going to do this thing? Like, will the, even the city of Detroit allow us to do this? Yes, they will. You want to know why? Because we haven't asked them if it's okay. That's exactly right. Uh, let's go outside right now to everybody. Hey guys, good morning. Can you guys hear me out there? Hello? Are we out there? Hello? Hello? Nobody there then let's do this hold on let me uh should i pick up uh i'll pick up megan on the uh on her phone line here megan are you there yeah we're talking to you oh really i can't hear on the uh on the the microphone check a one two a check a check a one two does it somebody turn the microphone on okay oh no you're stuck with me all right no it's okay describe what's going on out there

00:45:51 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 3:

well i gotta tell you it's about negative 78 degrees out here so that's going to be great But I love the fact that Victor is a very small lane, so I'm going to get a lot of good shots in here. He can't run. That's going to be great. They're practicing firing the paintballs right now, making sure all the firearms work properly for my hunting spree.

00:46:10 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so when you say it's negative, I'm looking at the actual weather, and it does. It's a lot colder than what it was. I mean, yesterday might have been our last nice day that we had of temperatures that were, you know, in the high 40s. we're going down by the way guys into uh into 30 degree weather for the rest of the year it looks

00:46:29 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 3:

like is it that cold our official weather lady just said it's 38 degrees is that what doesn't that mean the paintballs get harder and that's gonna you know handle a little bit harder oh

00:46:38 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 1:

one can only hope right all right my fingers are crossed is what is he doing is he stuffing

00:46:46 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 3:

in his turkey right now yeah he's uh he's pacing around he did some heavy stretches for the groin area he was specifically focused on that area like it's what he's trying to protect the most i'm not really sure as to why but whatever he feels works works okay all right um well

00:47:05 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 1:

megan's on the phone here where they're still trying to figure out it's funny because i just had literally just had alissa talking on that microphone yes oh there you are talking oh hey There you are. All right. Okay, Megan, I'm going to put you back on hold. Go talk to the microphone.

00:47:18 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 3:

God, that was so stressful. Okay, I'm going to hand it to Kevin now.

00:47:21 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 1:

What happened? Did somebody forget to put a battery in or something?

00:47:26 - 00:47:28 | Speaker 3:

You know, radio is radio.

00:47:28 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 1:

I like that. Alyssa, by the way, your attitude is the greatest attitude ever. First off, are you in college or what are you?

00:47:35 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 3:

I graduated. From where? From Wayne State University.

00:47:39 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 1:

They taught you well. Whoever your professors were at Wayne State, they did a great job. Thank you. Your parents probably did better. All right, so pass that microphone off to, if you can, to Kev, because I think Kev's going to be – are you hosting it, Kev?

00:47:51 - 00:47:56 | Speaker 4:

I'm here, man. We are live. Kev. We are ready. Kev.

00:47:57 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Mojo? Can you get a little back story for me of the angst that Megan is feeling towards Victor? Maybe let's talk to Victor, the turkey.

00:48:06 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 4:

So, Victor, Victor, Victor is – he looks like Muhammad Ali preparing for a fight right now. I've never seen him so locked in, but he's taking a moment away from his preparation to come talk to us. Victor, how are you feeling right now? And more importantly, the follow-up question, what is the angst between you and Megan? Give us the origin story. I'm feeling good. I just want to get this over with, and I don't even know who that person is. Oh, my gosh. Megan, Megan, would you mind coming here for a second? This is as close as you'll be to Victor before you shoot him. From your vantage point, where did all this begin?

00:48:40 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

I think it all started on a birthday post on the Mojo in the Morning page where Victor said something really nasty and not happy birthday related, and it's been downhill since then.

00:48:50 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. You know what? Then I'm siding Megan. I'm team Megan on this one then. I want to see.

00:48:58 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 4:

I think. Are we team Megan here today? I think we're team Megan. Are we ready to get this started? I'm good with that. What are we doing? Yeah. All right. Let's get it started. Oh, wait. Hold on. Victor, are you ready?

00:49:11 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on a second.

00:49:11 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 4:

Final words from our turkey. Final words from our turkey.

00:49:14 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on a second. Callers are saying they can't. Hold on real quick. Let me pick a call. Mojo in the morning. Hello.

00:49:20 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Just letting you know we can't hear anything when you're talking to anybody. It's just quiet.

00:49:25 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 1:

So you can't. Wait, hold on. You can't. And where are you calling from? Where are you at?

00:49:30 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 3:

00:49:31 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

00:49:35 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 3:

Now, get Kev on the phone on his cell phone.

00:50:54 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 4:

00:50:55 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, put Kev on the cell phone, Lydia.

00:50:57 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 4:

00:51:01 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they can't hear you on that microphone, so talk. Hold on. Not everybody, although it is kind of funny to hear that the listeners say that it sounds like I'm losing my mind having a conversation with myself. All right, so Megan, it all started with a birthday.

00:53:33 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 1:

Monica White Lake. I remember talking to you yesterday, Monica. I convinced you to come down here, I think. All right, so Madeline, Andre, Monica, and the paintball. 00:54:56 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 4:

Say it one more time. Victor was telling me he needed a...

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 2:

A squeegee. He said the floor is a bit too wet, but he'll be fine.

00:55:04 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 3:

Victor, don't slip and fall. You cannot injure yourself. If you do, call David Feminino.

00:55:11 - 00:55:19 | Speaker 1:

Get David, get paid.com. This is unacceptable. I should have been on that side, not here.

00:55:19 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 3:

Wait, what is going on? What's wrong, Victor?

00:55:22 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 1:

We like our turkeys moist. The floor is wet from when they washed off the chalk outlines of the people that were killed back here. So, they didn't do a good job of squeegeeing this.

00:55:34 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:55:34 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 1:

This is where the landlord, Krista Kofokos, killed his tenant.

00:55:40 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 3:

That's right. That's right. You hear that, Bob Pittman? You pay your rent on time. All right. Okay. Are we ready? So, do we have all the paintball? Wait. Okay. So, I want to make sure. Can I just hear what the paintball gun sounds like? Just one shot fired.

00:55:55 - 00:55:58 | Speaker 2:

You play for her. You play for the middle and then you play for the side.

00:55:58 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 3:

So, who's playing for Madeline, who's playing for Andre, and who's playing for Monica?

00:56:06 - 00:56:10 | Speaker 2:

All right, so Megan is playing for Madeline.

00:56:11 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 3:

Megan?

00:56:12 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 2:

Megan is playing for Monica. Okay. That means Shannon is playing for Andre.

00:56:20 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 3:

All right. This is good. This is where things get good, guys. Thank you for your patience.

00:56:27 - 00:56:32 | Speaker 2:

Our shooters are ready to arm themselves right now.

00:56:32 - 00:56:46 | Speaker 3:

Remember, guys, this is the deal. That the shooting doesn't go for, like, the entire morning. It's like 90 seconds of shooting that we do. Okay? So it's less than a little over a minute of shooting. Are we ready?

00:56:47 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 2:

They are loading up right now. KP has the orange paintball shooting for hours.

00:56:52 - 00:56:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:56:53 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 2:

That's the white paintball. And what color is Megan?

00:57:00 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 3:

This is on Facebook Live right now, on Mojo in the Morning.

00:57:06 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 2:

You're in the firing zone. Please do not stand there without goggles.

00:57:09 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 3:

Yes. All right, all right.

00:57:15 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 2:

Are we ready? On your mark. Oh, yeah, I'm starting to shoot. On your mark. Get set, shoot.

00:57:22 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, oh, oh, oh, I don't hear, I don't, I'm not hearing Victor. Oh, Victor. Hey, hey, hey. Oh, okay. All right. 10 seconds 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 that's it that's it that's it stop stop shooting megan

00:59:02 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 1:

There's no stuffing, no pillow, nothing. I wasn't worried about it. I had Shannon, who was worried about breaking a nail. KP was the one I was worried about. She probably shoots her dinner every night. Megan's afraid of guns because she's a liberal.

00:59:17 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 3:

Wait, do we have a definitive winner? Do we have a winner?

00:59:21 - 00:59:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's me. Do we have a winner? Who do you think was? Who's white? It's looking like, of all the colors, it looks like whoever shot the white gun. The white. Shannon is the winner.

00:59:33 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, Andre from Novi is the winner. Andre from Novi.

00:59:39 - 00:59:46 | Speaker 2:

Andre from Novi. Wow. You're on the phone with Mojo. We got Andre right here, Mojo. What do you got to ask him?

00:59:46 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Andre, how does it make you feel? You got a $1,000 StubHub gift card that our good friends over at Zod Ford and Papa Romano's are giving you. You're going to go see the Lions play against the Chicago.

01:00:28 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 4:

Big hug, though.

01:00:29 - 01:00:31 | Speaker 2:

Big hug. Give him a hug. Give him a hug.

01:00:31 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 4:

They're dapping each other up right now. I'm going to ruin a Tallahari sweater. I'm surprised we didn't have so much padding. I've been to Lone Wolf, and I know how stinging their paintballs are, so shout out to Lone Wolf. You guys are pretty cool, too.

01:00:44 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 2:

That is incredible. I love it. I love it. Well, thank you, buddy. I appreciate you. Congratulations to you. You guys, come on in studio. Everybody but Victor, Victor, clean off. We got new carpeting in this place. I don't want to get ourselves into trouble. Day number one, okay?

01:00:59 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 3:

Victor is clearly in pain.

01:01:00 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 2:

Send the champion Shannon in because she's got to do the dirty on the 30.

01:01:05 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 3:

Right after they take their photo out.

01:01:07 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 2:

All right, hold on. They're doing a photo. This is great radio. This is great radio. Oh, my God. By the way, I'm going to tell you this. that maybe the turkey shoot needs to be a suburban Farmington Hills thing only or something, I don't know. All right, we'll talk to you in a second. Here we go.

01:01:30 - 01:01:40 | Speaker 5:

This Thanksgiving, share us a time with your family and reminders of why you moved away from them. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:01:41 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 2:

All right, well, we're going to do the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, I will tease the War of the Roses so that you catch your breath. Good job, by the way. Congratulations to you. No. I can't. That's pretty good. You must have done a ton of practice in last night.

01:01:54 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 6:

I'm telling you, it was Nerf guns.

01:01:55 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 2:

That was pretty good. Was it exhilarating? Do you think that you could see yourself ever hunting?

01:02:00 - 01:02:02 | Speaker 6:

No, I never. I'll take you.

01:02:02 - 01:02:03 | Speaker 2:

Would you be afraid?

01:02:03 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 6:

I love deer.

01:02:04 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 2:

Would you be afraid of?

01:02:06 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 6:

It would be so sad.

01:02:07 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I would have a hard time with it, too. It's funny. I'm not afraid of guns or anything like that, but I'm afraid to actually kill anything. Like, kill, like, a deer that doesn't do anything, you know, bad to me.

01:02:19 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 5:

You say that until something's going to hurt you. Oh, my gosh. Wow, that's cold.

01:02:22 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's good. That woke me up. I love it. All right. Shannon, what do you got in this hour? It's 30 out of 30.

01:02:27 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 6:

Well, over the weekend, Khalid was outed by an ex-boyfriend, this aspiring singer named Hugo Del Monte. We talked about yesterday how he handled it. And he basically said, yes, I am gay. Let's move on with our lives. But having his sexuality outed online was pretty much the least upsetting thing in Khalid's eyes because around the same time, there were a bunch of accusations going around about him, including accusations of illicit drug use, domestic abuse, and seeking sex workers to pose as his boyfriends. So last night, he posted a video to X to address the allegations.

01:03:06 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 1:

I've never done cocaine a day in my life. I don't place myself in those scenarios. I'm not in those surroundings I smoke weed And I drink a little bit But I've never done cocaine a day in my life Let's tackle this escorting thing I've never paid for sex A day in my life Ever I've never paid anybody to date me I've never paid anybody To be in a relationship with me

01:03:34 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 2:

So I didn't realize Yesterday you did the story I didn't realize, and I heard the story over the weekend, that it was this bitter ex guy that was the one that brought all the stuff out there about him. I don't think his career is going to be very good now. Well, no.

01:03:51 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 3:

Interesting thing. So, two things. The first thing to the ex, he said that he hasn't talked to this man in four years. Yeah. He said this is somebody he was with four or five years ago. To your second point about the music, at the end of the video, it looked like it was going off. And he said, oh, wait, wait. One more quick thing. Any music that I have coming out next month Or near in the future This has nothing to do with it This is not a publicity stunt Anything that I had coming on the rollout Was already on its way So you didn't make a point to mention that

01:04:17 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 2:

Because we are playing a new Khalid song right now Right?

01:04:21 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we are

01:04:22 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 2:

We're playing this one Hold on a second

01:04:23 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 6:

This and the Jack Harlow Chef's kiss Wow

01:04:34 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 2:

now makes me skeptical that a story like this might be no I don't think so you don't think so what do you when they go out and say no this is not the reason why this story is coming out right now and then he's got new music that's coming out

01:04:50 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 6:

when it's accusations like those

01:04:52 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 2:

accusations but I also think though that it does you know no no bad stories what do they say

01:05:00 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 6:

No bad publicity?

01:05:01 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 5:

There's no such thing? Yeah, no such thing as bad publicity. I don't know.

01:05:05 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 4:

All right, Drake and his team are accusing Universal Music Group of artificially inflating Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us streaming numbers. Oh, my God. And they're now, they're taking legal action. Drake's Frozen Moments LLC filed what's called a pre-action petition against UMG, claiming they developed this illegal scheme to promote Kendrick's song. There was this campaign they created to manipulate and saturate all of the streaming services in airwaves. Drake says an inside source gave him this info and told him UMG was making covert payments to multiple platforms, radio stations, to play and promote the heck out of this song. And legally, we all know this. It's called payola, and it's very, very prohibited by the FCC. So this is now a lawsuit. Does this make Drake come off like a little bitch?

01:05:57 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 6:

I think on a surface level, yes. But I think it's deeper than just paying money to make the song popular. I think it's deeper than that. I think it's UMG taking money that Drake has made for them and utilizing it, not only to promote Kendrick, but to limit. I don't know. It's something to do with. The paperwork tells the true story. The headline is Drake's bitching because Kendrick's record is popping. But in the paperwork that's actually filed is more, like, money-based and, like, something like that. Would he be filing this if Drake's songs did better? Well, he's suing UMG, not Kendrick. Right.

01:06:32 - 01:06:34 | Speaker 2:

But would he be suing if his songs did better?

01:06:35 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 6:

I think it's a financial thing, so I guess it depends on how much money came out at the end of it.

01:06:40 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 4:

Yesterday, Eric and Lyle Menendez's infamous case was back in front of a judge with the brothers listening on the phone.

01:06:48 - 01:06:53 | Speaker 5:

Let me delete, let me get rid of the Ken, they're not like us. They are not like us, but okay, go.

01:06:53 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, everybody was wondering, are they going to be in person, are they not? They were listening on the phone during that status hearing regarding their resentencing. Judge Michael Jessick allowed testimony from two of the brother's aunts, their mom's sister and their dad's sister, because of health concerns. Here they are.

01:07:07 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 2:

I do want them home. They should never have been in such situations that presented themselves. What can a kid do with his father's?

01:07:18 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 4:

Their family wants them out. I can't stand 35 years. Yeah, their family wants them out. Attorney Mark Garago is commenting yesterday as well.

01:07:28 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 1:

The judge has now set January 30th and 31st as the days for a plenary or fulsome hearing on the resentencing. and by january 30th or 31st we're hoping that by the end of that or sometime sooner that we will in fact get the brothers release that was a big disappointment because the family was hoping that

01:07:59 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 4:

they would be home for the holidays and obviously as you just heard that's not going to be the case and speaking of the holidays do you guys remember the story of the former strangers who met eight years ago in a mistaken text message exchange it was a grandma and a young man named jamal yeah Well, they are reuniting for their ninth Thanksgiving celebration this week. Wanda Dench and Jamal Hinton. Yesterday, I thought this was so sweet. Jamal shared an Instagram photo, an Instagram post, rather. It was a lot of photos, a collage of photos of their friendship over the years. And he wrote in the caption, excited to announce that I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year for Wanda. And I'm looking forward to a day filled with good food, great company, and lasting memories. And that happy announcement comes a month after Wanda revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. So some happy news on the heels of some sad news. I love them. They post every year and it goes viral. I love it. For all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or Mojo in the Morning.

Congratulations to you. We got some tickets for you. You're going to go to Jingle Ball. Who are you most excited to see?

01:09:28 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jason Derulo would be so good, but Jack Harlow is so cute.

01:09:32 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:09:32 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 3:

Jack Harlow is so cute.

01:09:34 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 5:

And, by the way, this weekend we got a chance, Shannon and I and Megan and KP to catch up again with Jack Harlow's family that he would come to the Renos stay with in Grosseal when he was spending his summers here in Michigan so coming back home for Jack Harlow kind of so he's from originally Louisville and but he spent a lot of time in Michigan so it's gonna be a good Christmas for him hang on the phone and we'll get you set

01:10:00 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 3:

01:10:23 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 4:

I accidentally got him in the face. Yeah. You did? Yeah. Well, I mean, it's not your fault. The mask is supposed to prevent that.

01:10:31 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 3:

Victor Shannon got you in the face, huh? Right on the chin. How'd that feel? Was it good?

01:10:36 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 4:

Felt great. Felt great.

01:10:38 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 3:

Did it? By the way, was this as hard as last year? Because I feel like I did a shorter version of it last year. Because honestly, or this year, because the sound was so bad on this one. But the video was even, was bad.

01:10:48 - 01:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Last year was more painful.

01:10:49 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:10:50 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 4:

Because this year, Tony let me borrow his hockey gloves. Oh, really? That's what hurt the most was your first instinct is to block with your hands.

01:10:58 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:10:59 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 4:

And I thought I broke two or three fingers last year.

01:11:01 - 01:11:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow.

01:11:02 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 4:

This year, I said I got the gloves, so I didn't do any pillows or any padding. And when I went in the bathroom and changed, it's...

01:11:10 - 01:11:17 | Speaker 3:

You got some... Show everybody. Take it all. Let's see what you got. You got bruises? Let's see what you got. I want to see this. Oh, my God. Are you kidding me?

01:11:17 - 01:11:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's just here. There's some on the back and sides.

01:11:19 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, I got a special treat for you. Your first crush ever, Katrina, is here. She'll give you a hug. She'll give you a hug. By the way, explain this story, Katrina. And Katrina's here from Sixth Salon. We love Katrina so much. Our good friend, Katrina. Back in the day, Katrina, what was the restaurant that you guys worked at together? What was it called?

01:11:40 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Leather Bottle Inn.

01:11:41 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 3:

Leather Bottle Inn.

01:11:42 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 4:

Leather Bottle Inn on Farmington Road between 7 and 8 Mile.

01:11:45 - 01:11:55 | Speaker 3:

And so in Katrina, Katrina was a waitress there. You were the busboy there. Yes, I was the busboy. And you would go home to think of Katrina every single night.

01:11:55 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 4:

And busboy. Every single night. It was funny because, you know, she'd always talk to us and everybody's like, hey, man, hook me up with your cousin. Hook me up with your cousin. How do you know her? Is that your sister? Is that this? Is that? We're both Albanian. Yeah, we're both Albanian. So we just, you know, my brother worked there. So we'd take care of her tables and a couple of people's tables to make sure we cleaned them off. But everybody thought that, like, I had the power to be like, hey, you're going out with this person.

01:12:24 - 01:12:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, if you have that power, you know, I don't think you do. I have no power. Although I do think this. I want it when someday in life you should come back as an Albanian guy because you see these Albanian guys with all these gorgeous women and they all look like Victor.

01:12:39 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 4:

He could be a Blackian. Black people and Albanians are so close with the Hennessy, with the foods, with everything. We're like cousins, you know, basically.

01:12:49 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Maybe. You and Kev could actually be cousins.

01:12:52 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 4:

If you look at Kevin and I, we look like twins. I could date Katrina.

01:12:54 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 3:

Is that what we're saying? Oh, hey now. Watch out. All right. So I got to get to War of the Roses because people get complaining if we don't get to War of the Roses. Great job on that. Congratulations again to Andre from Novi. winning tickets to go see the Lions play on Thanksgiving or actually he wins a StubHub, $1,000 StubHub gift card so he can purchase tickets. I guess that's how we legally have to say it.

01:13:20 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. Get your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

01:13:26 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Bethany, you think that your husband is cheating on you?

01:13:31 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just kind of have a sort of bad feeling.

01:13:33 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 3:

And who is it that you think that he's cheating with?

01:13:38 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

There's a girl at work.

01:13:40 - 01:13:42 | Speaker 3:

Will you tell everybody what he does for a living?

01:13:43 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 2:

He is a bartender. So she works at the bar with him. Spending late nights together.

01:13:49 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You kind of told us in your submission that you sent in to us to do War of the Roses that you do hang out at his work a lot. Is it because you've worried that he's cheating on you?

01:14:04 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 2:

No, no. For a while, usually just like one night a week, I'll go and kind of like hang out at the bar while he's working just to kind of hang out with him.

01:14:14 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 3:

And have you noticed anything between the two of these guys or because she's somebody that's kind of newer working there that it's different than it has been in the past?

01:14:24 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 2:

I think at first I didn't really notice it. You know, I noticed she was new and he kind of brushed her off. I think as time has sort of gone on, of noticed that they've become like a lot more friendly and then like a week ago something happened that just kind of made me have some pause what happened um so I came into the bar and they didn't see me and I felt like they were kind of touchy-feely in a way that made me feel uncomfortable he was touching her

01:14:57 - 01:15:00 | Unknown:

And

01:15:00 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 3:

were kind of touching each other it just it felt flirty. What did he do or she do when they saw that you were there? They just split apart really fast. Okay because at first I was going to ask bars are cramped sometimes you need to put your hands places to be like I'm behind you

01:15:20 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 1:

but as soon as you separate yeah. So have you any friends that work with him or any other people that are there that you've could depend on to give you any uh hints on what's going on like sometimes you become friends with the people that uh your spouse works with yeah i would say i'm

01:15:43 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 3:

more friendly with them but they're definitely more his friend so you know if something was happening i'm not to be honest with you 100 sure that they'd tell me they're his friends so can i

01:15:55 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 2:

ask you this question because it definitely sounds like they're flirty like that is that's not up for speculation but would would he have time to take it past that like is he not coming home certain nights or coming home late or going in early or like what what does all that look like i don't i

01:16:12 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 3:

don't know i think that for me his schedule has has felt the same like he's not coming home any later than he normally does i mean you know it's a bar so occasionally there's a late night but that's normal like not every night but a saturday night yeah sometimes he will be he will be coming home at two three in the morning because that's just that's just working at a bar all right we're

01:16:37 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 1:

going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses can you mute your phone are you on a phone that has like a mute button on it yes i i can mute my phone all right mute it and we're hoping that he sends the flowers to Bethany, and we're going to see if her husband is cheating on her. It's the Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses.

01:17:11 - 01:17:11 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

01:17:12 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 2:

Hi, is this Jarrett?

01:17:16 - 01:17:17 | Speaker 5:

Uh, yeah.

01:17:17 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Jared. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling you from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm calling with an offer for some free flowers. It's two survey questions. We're just trying to get our name out there as a new option for sending flowers, and the flowers can go out today. They can be sent to anybody in the country, anywhere in the country, totally free of charge. And so I'm just wondering if you've got a minute or two to answer some survey questions and get some free flowers.

01:17:45 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, sure. Okay, why not?

01:17:47 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 2:

Okay, have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Jared?

01:17:54 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 5:

When was Valentine's Day? I don't think so. I'm not sure.

01:17:57 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

01:18:03 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 5:

Again, when is Valentine's Day? Yes, probably. I don't know.

01:18:06 - 01:18:07 | Speaker 2:

So you send flowers one time a year?

01:18:09 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, you know, isn't it required on that day? You got to send them to somebody.

01:18:12 - 01:18:30 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Well, today they're free, so it'll be a bonus. But as a thank you for participating in that survey, rosesbloom.com is now going to give you that dozen long-stemmed red roses. So I need to go ahead and get some information from you, starting with the first and the last name of who you want these flowers to go to.

01:18:31 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, okay. Let's send them to Chelsea.

01:18:40 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and what's her phone number?

01:18:41 - 01:18:48 | Speaker 5:

uh i don't have it off the top of my head do i need to give the phone number i do need the

01:18:48 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 2:

phone number because um i'll explain in a second we need her phone number for the delivery

01:18:53 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 4:

okay hang on a second i got it give me a minute all right it's uh

01:19:00 - 01:19:12 | Speaker 2:

okay and what's her relationship to you

01:19:12 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 5:

uh we work together

01:19:16 - 01:19:57 | Speaker 2:

okay so i'm just confirming that the dozen long-stemmed red roses is is okay yeah okay so um i'm just gonna put co-worker on here we're also gonna go ahead and record a voice memo and this is part of the reason that i needed uh in this case chelsea's phone number so she's gonna get a text message alerting her that she has a delivery she'll go out see the flowers and then she'll be able to play this little voice memo kind of in place of a card that i'm gonna record with you here does that make sense okay yeah sure yeah anything you want to say you can make it long, short, however you want, but I'm going to count you down and then you just go. Three, two, one.

01:20:00 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Chels. Hope you're having a good day, and here's a little something for you that will probably make your day a little bit better.

01:20:10 - 01:20:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:20:12 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 1:

And, Jared, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

01:20:20 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's fine.

01:20:21 - 01:20:22 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:20:22 - 01:20:47 | Speaker 2:

And Jared, I'm going to jump on just to kind of wrap the call up here and get you on your way and we'll send the flowers off. But I have to let you know one last thing. Okay. While you have been sending flowers to your co-worker, your wife, Bethany, has been listening to this and just heard you send another woman flowers.

01:20:49 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:20:52 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 2:

You understand that your wife just heard you send flowers to another woman. Red roses.

01:21:01 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay, it's not Valentine's Day. I'm just sending them to somebody who would enjoy getting some free flowers. Big deal.

01:21:10 - 01:21:22 | Speaker 2:

So there was nothing meant in sending flowers to her. There's nothing, like, underlying that you're doing that would make your wife uncomfortable?

01:21:25 - 01:21:27 | Speaker 4:

Nope. There's nothing that I'm doing.

01:21:29 - 01:21:31 | Speaker 1:

I would be pretty uncomfortable if I was your wife.

01:21:34 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's a good thing you're not my wife.

01:21:37 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 7:

Can I ask you a question, though? If your wife was giving gifts to her male co-workers, would you be upset or would you just say, well, that's a thing you do?

01:21:48 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, I wouldn't be upset. That's just something you do, you know, with friends.

01:21:52 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 2:

Bethany?

01:21:55 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 6:

Yep.

01:21:58 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 2:

What are your thoughts?

01:22:01 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 6:

I'm sort of speechless. obviously my feelings are really hurt i wasn't really expecting this and i it just feels really inappropriate

01:22:17 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 2:

is this is this the person that you were telling us about no who is this person that he sent these two

01:22:28 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 6:

this is actually another girl that works oh so he has a track record a pattern

01:22:40 - 01:22:58 | Speaker 2:

jared do you think we're do you think we're over analyzing this because you just seem so nonchalant about it normally if we catch somebody that is doing something they shouldn't be doing usually they're more defensive you don't seem

01:22:58 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 4:

defensive at all what what do i have to be defensive about you guys didn't catch me doing

01:23:04 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 2:

anything disagree well we said we caught we caught you not sending flowers to your wife

01:23:12 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 4:

is there is there a rule that you can only send flowers to your wife that you can't send them to

01:23:18 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 1:

friends i guess i would just argue that i i would want to be top of mind and the first choice if i We're your wife.

01:23:30 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 2:

Do you want us to still send these off?

01:23:34 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm allowed to send flyers to anyone I want.

01:23:38 - 01:23:43 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Bethany, do you want to talk to Jared off the air?

01:23:46 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 5:

I think I'm going to take a little bit to just kind of process this information. And then, yeah, I think we're unfortunately going to have to have a discussion.

01:23:57 - 01:24:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, hang on one second, okay? Okay.

01:24:02 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 4:

Busted again. It's your home for War of the Roses, Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:13 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, War of the Roses. And Jared's sending flowers not to his wife, but sending it to a girl that he works with. Not the girl, though, that his wife was most worried about. I mean, you work in the service industry, you get to become friends with lots of people and working, obviously, in a bar is an interesting situation, especially for what she witnessed. But do we have a clear-cut cheater? I don't know. Your thoughts?

01:24:45 - 01:24:46 | Speaker 7:

Well, it's not Valentine's Day.

01:24:47 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, right, Bree? It's not Valentine's Day. What's happening? Hi.

01:24:52 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. How are you?

01:24:54 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

01:24:54 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 6:

I just found it funny that he can't send flowers. to his wife any other day of the year besides Valentine's Day. But it's open to other women every other day of the year.

01:25:10 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 3:

I will tell you this though. Again, just like past War of the Roses, I think even the last War of the Roses that we had, these guys are not nervous. We've had guys that get stumbly over their words and don't know what to do after they've sent the flowers to their wife. And then we got these guys, like Jarrett, who, to him, he doesn't think he's doing anything wrong.

01:25:36 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 1:

He's more infuriating to me.

01:25:38 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 3:

But it's convincing for me, though.

01:25:39 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 1:

No. So you don't think he did anything wrong?

01:25:41 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 3:

I think, well, first off, let me say, what's the wrong? Yeah, he sent flowers to another woman that's not his wife. But is he actually, is he cheating? I don't necessarily know. We got a cheater. Come on, man. The way that Megan, your reaction was on this War of the Roses and Shannon's reaction was on this War of the Roses, and maybe kev too i think kev was kind of holding back a little bit but the way that you guys reacted it was like we walked in on them in bed together the guys sent flowers to another girl i

01:26:09 - 01:26:25 | Speaker 1:

think too that any woman knows in her gut when she sees the way that her man is interacting with another female if he's heterosexual you know if it's more than like a friendly co-worker relationship You just know it's like this spidey sense we have.

01:26:25 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 2:

If you're my person and I am not first of mind, top of mind, first in line for you at all times, what are we doing?

01:26:33 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 3:

Well, I will say this. There is not a guy in this listening audience that has never gotten in trouble by their significant other for putting another woman, whether it be a mother, a sister, a co-worker. I've gotten in trouble before for stuff that I've done for you guys. from chelsea where she said wait a second what are you doing mothers and sisters are completely

01:26:57 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 1:

different from co-workers yeah family is different from job and if it's a co-worker don't you think you say to your partner like hey it's megan's birthday today yeah we should send her flowers

01:27:08 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 3:

but the problem is when you forget your wife and don't get her something on her birthday

01:27:11 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 4:

sorry chelsea i think sometimes though you don't have that conversation with your spouse to make it more of a communal action. You just take it upon yourself to say, hey, I know Shannon's going through something. Let me send her some flowers. This doesn't feel like that type of situation where that person is going through something. It sounds like he's been going into something.

01:27:33 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Kelly? If you know what I mean. Yeah, that's right. Hi. Going into something, meaning a vagina. What's going on? I'm sorry, Kelly. What's going on?

01:27:42 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I just wanted to say, I think he did get caught. He is very smug, and he may not have physically got caught, but he got caught. But he doesn't give two bits about getting caught. He's very smug, and he just kept saying, well, she didn't catch me doing anything. I'm not getting caught.

01:28:00 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 3:

I do have to say this, though. Their conversation on the offline, according to Lydia, was not combative at all. And it almost came across as if, uh, Bethany was forgiving of what he did in his actions. Gloria, what's up?

01:28:18 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 6:

Um, hi, good morning. I just wanted to say, I know like how you were saying Mojo that like, you kind of don't feel like maybe, you know, he got caught, but with Shannon and Megan, it, it's like, it is a woman thing. and like this man is a narcissist like listening to him speak and the way he spoke to his wife if she ever even did physically cheat him he'd be the type to look at her and tell her how wrong she is like he would never admit it like you can tell he's 100 of a cheater and he's a narcissist yeah and i mean i'm kind of shocked that they're married like that threw me out through a loop like she's very well spoken and collected and he is just like he sounds like an idiot sounds like

01:28:59 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 3:

a dummy opposites attract well yeah absolutely right um i i will uh tell you though somebody sent the greatest text in mojo may have something here in a court of law did we catch him cheating that's true like is this you only read that because you say mojo at the same time there's

01:29:19 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 2:

a lot of other ones here that say the same thing at the same time do we catch him cheating no do we catch anybody actually cheating during this segment no we don't find anybody with their

01:29:29 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 3:

pants down that doesn't mean oh yeah yeah massive trouble but we did and and honestly when you're hearing them talk to each other or you're hearing the card that he put that card did not seem very romantic Paris what's up hey how's it going good what's going on oh you know I just feel like

01:29:48 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 6:

Derek could have probably communicated with his wife what was going on and you know just made sure that she felt okay about it since they are married and it just shows you know respect for his wife You know, just a simple text or phone call.

01:30:03 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 5:

So you don't think he's cheating either?

01:30:05 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 6:

Speculations regarding, I mean, who is to say if he's cheating, right? We don't know. We just know that their interaction with a different girl made her uncomfortable. I guess we don't know if they talked about that either, but if you know she's feeling some way or she has some type of uncertainty, then absolutely, you know, you kind of want to do whatever you have to do to make sure that, you know, the woman you go home to is okay. Happy wife, happy life.

01:30:28 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 3:

Right. And that, by the way, is a great point to make of this is this is about he touched this girl while they were working together in a way that seemed romantic or seemed, you know, inappropriate. And that is that's the bigger issue here. But he did it also in a very public setting. He did it in front of other co-workers. And if he what does that mean? Because if you're if you're working in a bar and you're behind the bar and you touch a girl or touch somebody that's not your wife. and your guys are having sex with each other, are you going to openly do that? Yeah, if you don't care. Really?

01:31:03 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 1:

And if your partner isn't there.

01:31:06 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

01:31:07 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 1:

He was not aware that she had walked in when she saw this.

01:31:11 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 3:

I would think that he would be hiding that. I don't know. Toya, what's up?

01:31:16 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo. So here's my thing. I think, is it clear-cut that he's cheating? No, right? There's a lot of factors that make it seem like he is. but it's the fact that after his wife said she was uncomfortable and then you said do you still want us to send it and he had the audacity to say yes i know what so i think it's that point she made it clear to you she would no matter what you thought that's your wife after she says she's not comfortable then you say okay i'm sorry even if you thought it wasn't wrong let's talk about it He did not care at all. I wish my husband would.

01:31:57 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 3:

He'd be eating at her house for this Thanksgiving.

01:31:59 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 5:

Okay, because listen, you better find somebody else's house to go to because I ain't cooking a thing. All right?

01:32:05 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 2:

I love y'all.

01:32:06 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 3:

Love you, Toya. What's up, Courtney? Hi.

01:32:09 - 01:32:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey. No, you were just saying about like your mom or your sister and, you know, possibly other people making a mistake. Yeah.

01:32:16 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Other women. Yeah.

01:32:18 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. No, but that's completely different. You're not going to, you know, sleep with your mom or your sister.

01:32:23 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 3:

We do broadcast on the iHeart app to some communities that do.

01:32:26 - 01:32:27 | Speaker 2:

Stop it.

01:32:27 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 3:

I got to be honest with you. Don't yet there is. There's some people in Ohio that I've seen that act a little funny. Don't do that.

01:32:33 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 5:

Don't do that. Don't say that.

01:32:34 - 01:32:39 | Speaker 3:

Nate, what's going on? Hi. Nate, what's up?

01:32:40 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 4:

Sorry, I just heard you guys, man. I just got to say, I don't think he's cheating, though. I work at a bar myself, and, you know, Well, none of my actual ladies have ever been mad about it. I've always been open. You call your girlfriends your old ladies.

01:32:54 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 3:

Wait, open about what, though? This is the guy that's on my side.

01:32:59 - 01:33:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you get it.

01:33:01 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 3:

Nate, what bar do you work at, Nate?

01:33:03 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes you got to stay in non-business. I work in this little dive bar out in the sticks.

01:33:09 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:33:10 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 5:

Who's putting up with your business?

01:33:11 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 4:

But the same stuff happens.

01:33:13 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 3:

Huh? I bet he's got a very hot wife or girlfriend or whoever.

01:33:16 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 4:

Old lady.

01:33:17 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 3:

Old lady, right?

01:33:19 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:33:20 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 3:

All right, buddy.

01:33:21 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 4:

I've actually had compliments.

01:33:23 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 3:

You've had compliments. Now, Nate, have you ever slept with one of the ladies you work with?

01:33:31 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 4:

Unfortunately, yeah. But, I mean, I didn't really want to. She asked me to, so I had to be a little bit of a service man.

01:33:38 - 01:33:46 | Speaker 3:

By the way, this is the guy that's on your side. Lydia, this is the only call you could get on my side on this one. Thank you. Appreciate that.

01:33:46 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no problem, brother. You know I got you. All right.

01:33:48 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 3:

I appreciate it. I'll see you out in the sticks. Y'all be standing on business again. Bye.

01:33:54 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 5:

Let's go. It's show time.

01:33:57 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Got a good show for you here. If you missed the turkey shoot from earlier this morning, that's up on our Facebook or Facebook Live that we had. You can go check that out, plus pictures and all that stuff. Congratulations again to Andre from Novi. Come on in, guys. Let's bring these guys in studio so they can see the show. So everybody, here, let's greet them. Somebody, can we, here, I'll get up, I'll get up. What do you want? Where are you doing? Open the door and let them come in. It's a push door. It ain't locked. Come on. They're all standing out there like we're zoo animals. And I don't know, we got to walk out, greet them. Come on in, guys. Come on in, guys. Welcome to the new studio. Come on. We want to say hi to you guys. Also, you guys were the ones that came down here and did not win. Pretty much. So jump that guy that's about to walk in here in a second and steal his prize from him. there's Andre there he is there's the man there's the guy oh look at this guy I like that sweatshirt that is cool alright well what did you guys think did you guys enjoy were we excited happy are you sad are we sad i don't know i'm sad i you know here's what the the deal andre's willing right now to give this up to one of you guys yeah he's he's not willing to do any of that stuff um hold on one second while we grab the winner here for our trip to uh to florida i gotta ask you guys this question and i'm gonna ask you guys in this uh studio to their guests so um we're going to the game on thanksgiving the whole family's going to the game jacob's not my middle son is not much of a uh a sports fan but he's a good sport about the fact that he wants the whole family to be together and it's kind of a cool thing to do um chelsea yesterday when she came down to the radio station and visited said you know what i'm going to drive over to ford field and go to their uh ford field you know team store that they have and go buy jacob something because jacob has nothing he i don't jacob does not wear he's not a wear pistons or red wings or or lion stuff because he's not a sports kid right um he's he's more j crew or something i don't know and so she went over there and bought him two sweatshirts here's the funniest part of the whole deal she said the selection there wasn't that great when she went to the store and these were the only two sweatshirts that she thought that jacob would probably put on when she came home with them. I own both of those sweatshirts. So I told the boys, I go, I go, this is pretty funny. I said, I own those two sweatshirts. When Jacob finds that out, he'll be less of a sports kid knowing that I have those two sweatshirts. Will you wait for him to put one on and then match him for the game? Well, here's, here's what Joey and Luke want me to do. And this is their idea. They want me to put the sweatshirt on and then wear like a zip up coat underneath it, like a vest or something. So he doesn't see what the sweatshirt looks like that I'm wearing. and then reveal it at Ford Field when we sit down.

01:36:52 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 4:

When you can't change. He's going to rip your credit card out and walk to the store and buy something new.

01:36:59 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 3:

We're not a matchy family. Like, even Chelsea back in the day tried to get the three boys to match each other on stuff, and the kids hated it. The only time I think they ever do it is, like, Christmas pajamas or something.

01:37:10 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and probably not anymore.

01:37:11 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 3:

And it's only when Grandma has done it. Like, where Grandma's, like, bought all these, like, I don't know, like, I don't know, red you ever see those those red what do they call them they're like buffalo yes yes we all had to wear them one time and i was the only one with that hadn't done that matched because they

01:37:26 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 4:

didn't come in double x so we get magic pajamas every year yeah i'm theme do you really oh every year we had camo christmas honolulu christmas tie-dye christmas we all got very high that year

01:37:38 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 3:

do you match do you match your kids do they or because they're a boy and a girl they don't

01:37:43 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 1:

match at all no i mean we've done that in the past but i've kind of given up because they both have very strong preferences on their pajamas has josiah ever matched with oh yeah last really

01:37:53 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 2:

yeah did you really and i want to say last year we had two different sets we had a christmas eve set then a christmas day set okay it's low-key fun you got the papa bear mama bear t-shirt you and josiah ever match each other or is that not something that's cool um no outside of last year Last year was the first year that we actually bought the matching set.

01:38:12 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This year, probably not. Because I wonder sometimes, like, when I see these kids and their dads that match.

01:38:19 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:38:20 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 3:

And, like, out of all my kids, the only kid that would be cool with matching with me is Joe. And remember I did that father-son golf tournament and we wore matching golf stuff the whole time? He thought it was the coolest thing ever. Luke won't even do it. Like, Luke's like, I don't even want people to know that you're my dad. Like, you know?

01:38:36 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 2:

So I will say one of my favorite Christmas memories as it relates to matching Josiah when he was very young and young to the point where he was asleep and you would try to lift him up and he still would stay asleep. I dressed him up as Buzz Lightyear. No, I dressed him up as Woody and then I was Buzz Lightyear. So when he woke up, it was like, yeah, that was a cool moment. But he's way too old for that.

01:38:59 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, which which line am I picking up? Who's my winner for the qualification for the trip?

01:39:04 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 4:

That's line five.

01:39:06 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 3:

Line five. Would you put it on hold so I can see who that person's name is?

01:39:10 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 4:

She's on hold.

01:39:11 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? You know what I got here? I got a phone issue then. I can't see. Her name is Michelle. All right. I can't pick it up. I can pick up this line. Hello. I'm sorry you're not the winner because you're not line five. I apologize. We already got the winner.

All right. Congratulations to you. Hang on the phone.

01:40:30 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving.

01:40:31 - 01:40:52 | Speaker 5:

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. Oh, people, the people that, that are friends of mine, friends and family members of mine say that, that the matching thing is just something that a bunch of people do with their kids early in life. They don't do that later in life. I got to do this with them.

01:40:52 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 1:

We do it as adults. We get matching ornaments, too. And then we get super drunk every Christmas Eve, match up and take photos together. It's the best.

01:41:00 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 5:

Does your brother really have to play along with this, or do you think he wants to play along with this?

01:41:05 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:41:06 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

He's into it?

01:41:07 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 1:

Why would you not be into matching up with your family, eating terrible food, getting super drunk and playing games? I've met your family.

01:41:15 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 5:

I just met your family, so I don't know.

01:41:17 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 1:

Why is everybody crapping on me today?

01:41:19 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 5:

Because it's a joke, Megan. It's called a joke. Did you guys think it was a joke, or do you think I was serious with that? What did you guys think? Maybe I needed the laugh track behind this. like a sitcom or something.

01:41:31 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 4:

I think we should dress up. Matching? Matching and get drunk in the studio one day. We're a family.

01:41:37 - 01:41:37 | Speaker 5:

Let's do it today.

01:41:38 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 4:

Why not? Why don't we? Don't we do that every Friday? Let's crack a bottle.

01:41:41 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 5:

Let's crack a bottle and do it. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Megan has a question for us, guys. And what's that question, Megan?

01:41:49 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 1:

Love doing this with an audience in here, by the way. It makes me super comfortable.

01:41:53 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 5:

Do you want them all to leave? I'll ask them all to leave.

01:41:54 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. I'm just used to it. I know we talk to a lot of people, But sometimes when it's just the four of us in a room, it doesn't feel like it. And then when there's an audience, you're like, oh, yeah, people listen to this. I have a question for our guy listeners probably more often on this one. We've got a couple.

01:42:12 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 5:

I've got a few. Look at that guy over there. He's got all guy written all over.

01:42:18 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 1:

You're all guy. Say it. Say it loud. Are you all guy?

01:42:21 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 5:

Are you all guy? I am all guy. All right, guy. Go ahead. Here we go, Megan.

01:42:25 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 1:

Um, I am curious if I should be archiving all of my old photos on Instagram, because I think sometimes my before photos and my weight loss journeys become a red flag in dating scenarios. And it's becoming very interesting to me how people are deep diving and the comments that you can kind of snidely receive. But this is what happened to my girlfriend. My girlfriend and I have both been through body journeys and a guy canceled their date before they went out. They met on a dating app because he had deep dived her Instagram and said, uh, you're always capable of getting back there. Damn. Yeah.

01:43:06 - 01:43:06 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:43:07 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 2:

First of all, that is a rude thing. No, I know. That's the thing I've ever heard. And also, I'm so happy she didn't go out with him because what a dick. I agree.

01:43:13 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 1:

I agree. But I think he was just bold enough to say it and more guys think it than will say it. You really do? That's crazy. I absolutely do because I exist on the internet where people write this stuff daily. And it has an effect on people. Even if you're writing it to a stranger, the people in your lives can see what you have written and it affects them on a daily basis as well. But I'm very interested because I think if I archive the photos, it's a red flag like I'm trying to hide something. And if I don't archive them, it's a red flag like people see it as a bad thing.

01:43:44 - 01:43:55 | Speaker 5:

Here, Katrina's in studio with us. And Katrina, you just went through a beautiful weight loss journey yourself. you've always been gorgeous but you're even more gorgeous than ever right now yes and not yes but

01:43:55 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 3:

i definitely definitely would say no archiving we have been through this journey proud of this journey love the journey and it made you who you are today do not i i don't i agree and also

01:44:09 - 01:44:18 | Speaker 2:

anybody that actually deserves to be with you would see that and be so proud and recognize that And their thought process wouldn't be, well, she could go back to that.

01:44:18 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 3:

I truly. Judgy person. Do we want them?

01:44:22 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 1:

No. Anyway. No, I just think the majority of people are that judgy. I truly think it's used against you. And it's seen as a negative.

01:44:30 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 5:

All right. Let's ask the guys that question. Guys, your thought. And by the way, 844 Mojo Live is our telephone number on this one. What do you think? If you look at a girl that has lost a bunch of weight because you see some of her pictures from the past, does that make you think, oh, well, that girl is going to potentially be fat again or something?

01:44:54 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Not at all, because if you see somebody for who they are, you're going to move forward just like how they move forward.

01:45:00 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 6:

when they lost the weight, you're going to move with them. So never go backwards, always go forward. This guy, look at this guy. And you know what? He does not. How did that come out of that guy's body? I'm looking at that guy. He looks like a, what do you do for a living? Are you a trucker? Are you a construction worker?

01:45:15 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 4:

I'm a disabled vet, but now I do Uber. Oh, dude?

01:45:18 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I'm looking at that guy and I'm like, that guy's a poet over there. That was like, it's beautiful. It was beautiful. Then I saw the ring and I'm like, what about other guys? What do you think? K.P., let him see your microphone there for one second. He's got a Carhartt hat on. Eric, what do you think about that? Would you deep dive their pictures from the past? Right into the microphone, please.

01:45:40 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 1:

No, I think that's not somebody that you want to be with if they're going to judge you based upon your looks. All right, let's go to the phones.

01:45:47 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 6:

There's not one guy that's in the studio that will tell the opposite point of view on this one. Well, can I say something? And I love that you guys say that, and that's how I feel too. And maybe it's because also I've had weight issues, and so I look at that and go, oh, my God. But, Kev, what do you think most guys would think?

01:46:07 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm not an archiver by nature. Every single photo, if you go back to my Instagram from the first picture I've ever posted, everything on there is what's been posted. I've never deleted anything. I'm just a firm believer in this is who I was and what I felt was necessary at the time, and there's nothing wrong with that. But it's all a piece of who I am today, and I should be thankful for every journey. I just mentioned, Sherelle and I are no longer together. I have no plans on going and deleting any photos of her from my past. Because that's a part of who I am.

01:46:38 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 6:

I hate when I see people do that. I really do. When people go through breakups or divorces, and all of a sudden they act like the last 10 years weren't part of their lives.

01:46:47 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 2:

But I don't know if those are comparable. Why? Xs to body transformations. I don't know if those are comparable.

01:46:53 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 5:

Really? The only line that I'm drawing between the two is part of your past, a piece of who you are.

01:46:59 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 2:

But I don't think you could judge for getting out of a relationship the way you get judged for the way your body looks.

01:47:04 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 5:

I don't know how that could be viewed as a negative thing. If you took a piece to improve yourself. I don't know. That's where my brain is, too.

01:47:12 - 01:48:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't think people are going to call in and be honest, but I think once you're overweight, it's always stigmatized against you that you have. this sounds mean and harsh but it's the way that i was treated it's like as a failure like you failed i'm better than you because i didn't do that and i there is a superiority complex to people who have never been overweight before and the judgment there and i i think that sometimes people don't realize that it exists or it's not intentional but it still exists as like an undercurrent of society and I think a lot of times when potential daters see that and go well you've done it before I'm not attracted to that and I know that there's a chance for it to happen again I'd rather just not deal with it and I think there's a huge focus on our culture right now in dating and fitness and how their profiles are I need somebody that goes to the gym all the time I need this I need that I'm working out I go hiking I do this I the rock climbing posts have got to stop you guys you did it one time on vacation four years ago you're not a rock climber and i don't want to hear it but the way that that focus is fitness and looks before anything else

01:48:23 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 5:

is disheartening i feel like that's just social media in general carlis what's it is i believe

01:48:29 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

so too carlis what's up hey hey guys thank you guys so much um we we really got to be careful how we modify our behavior for strangers you know when you go down that road you're going to have strangers shaping your life. Even though you've overcome something, you're still dancing this tune to strangers shaping your life. We just got to be who we are, stand up and own it. And the right people will be the ones to appreciate it. The superficial people, they're the ones we're going to have a problem with. We don't care about them. We shouldn't care about what superficial people

01:49:04 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 6:

think. Why give somebody the ability to affect you with a comment that you would never ask for their opinion on anything in general like if a guy makes a comment like that that's just a person that right there thank god showed you who the true side of them absolutely uh craig what's up

01:49:22 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 4:

it's mojo in the morning hey so um i'd had weight loss surgery and then my now wife had had white weight loss surgery and we met through a uh did you guys meet in weight loss surgery class no no no i lived in indiana she lives there okay because i was gonna say i took one of those

01:49:40 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 6:

classes one time at u of m and i gotta tell you something very nice people i wondered if anybody's ever hooked up because they met in one of those i thought you were joking i didn't know it's a new class you have to do it for your insurance makes you do it if if you want to go get a surgery

01:49:53 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

or something like that uh okay so yeah but the way we met was there was a singles group for people that had with

01:50:00 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 1:

loss surgery and i purposely wanted to make sure that i got with you know dated somebody and possibly married somebody that had the surgery because then they know how i have to eat do you

01:50:11 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 6:

guys have your pictures of you before your surgery hanging up around your house or on your social

01:50:17 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 1:

media oh yeah i do i do collages of when i you know was heavy and when i lost weight do you do

01:50:24 - 01:50:46 | Speaker 6:

it because it motivates you to continue to keep the weight off yes yeah that's that's interesting um now did you continue did you do that all the way through or because you met somebody because that's megan's talking from the experience of going out and dating she's wondering if she'd take this off because she's dating you know right now and she doesn't know if guys will think of her

01:50:46 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 1:

differently um i found that not that's really not the case um because uh my wife not my now wife we dated for like four and a half years but she was hit on constantly by guys that you know didn't

01:51:01 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 6:

have weight loss okay and nobody ever said anything to her about the fact that she had lost a bunch of weight no by the way you guys must be the two of you together having had that surgery Do you guys all split meals and stuff?

01:51:17 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 1:

Depending on where we go. I don't know if you've ever been to Zenders and Frankenmuth.

01:51:20 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, we talked about it yesterday.

01:51:23 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 1:

But we have a card that says you had weight loss surgery, so we just split one, and then we only have to pay for one meal. Wait.

01:51:33 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Seriously.

01:51:35 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 6:

That's interesting. Otherwise, they would make you guys both get a meal. That's wild.

01:51:39 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 1:

Right. And it's like I've barely eaten anything.

01:51:43 - 01:51:56 | Speaker 6:

Thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate you. No problem. Bye. I do think Megan does have a point. There are guys. We see their comments all the time. I don't think any of them are going to have balls enough to call us, but we'll see. What's up, Jesse?

01:51:57 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Megan. I just wanted to say that I've been following your weight loss surgery for like the last She didn't have surgery.

01:52:04 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 3:

Well, my bad. I'm so glad I've been following your weight loss journey. And I'm so freaking proud of you because coming from somebody who's lost 150 pounds myself, that's a big accomplishment. Thank you so much. But I was going through the exact same thing. I was looking through my old Instagram photos, trying to figure out if I should archive them. And I honestly don't think that you should archive your photos because, honestly, if they're going through your photos and they see where you were then and where you are now, That should be a green light to say, hey, this person had the discipline, commitment, and overall, like, amazing ability to make this huge change in their life. Absolutely not. Do not archive your photos. Keep those photos up because that's going to be a great thing for you and the person that's going to be going out for you.

01:52:56 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 6:

Thank you, buddy. I appreciate it. Megan, getting a little emotional listening to some of these callers here.

01:53:02 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 2:

You are?

01:53:02 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 6:

No, I thought you were.

01:53:04 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, I'm just listening. Honestly, I do agree with a lot of what they're saying, and I also really disagree with a lot of what they're saying. And I think it's interesting because I did ask for men's opinion, and I do want to hear their perspective. I'm not dismissing it, but it's interesting after hearing them how much I disagree with them from a woman's perspective.

01:53:23 - 01:53:25 | Speaker 6:

Marcos, what's going on?

01:53:26 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

01:53:27 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 6:

How you doing?

01:53:29 - 01:53:40 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing all right. So a bit of a hot take here. i was gonna say megan well before i say this i think you're gorgeous and it's awesome and now

01:53:40 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 6:

now here comes the hot take go ahead all right comma but dot dot dot no i would say to rk them

01:53:46 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 5:

and not because i would because me as a single guy i i'm on the apps right and normally when i see people that were typically big go to like a slimmer i automatically think that since i don't know they just have typically those people oh what are you trying to say bro no no listen i'm not i'm no i was just saying normally when people are bigger and then they get slimmer they end up becoming a-holes now that they're slimmer oh some of that's true me on the dating apps when i and i know people personally they lose all this weight they look amazing and then all of a sudden they become angry yeah so typically when i see that i'm like oh i just automatically because I don't even want to deal with it. They're hangry, maybe. I'm saying that Megan's going to do that. No, too late. I'm just saying. But you know what? I just messed it up.

01:55:00 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 1:

that's actually interesting though because that that's more of a red flag to you as a guy is that the girl all of a sudden now is is becoming uh i don't maybe not as uh as happy

01:55:13 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 5:

that's wild no you become much more jaded as a human being when you realize how differently people treat you just based on how your body looks i can see i am so much it's so funny to me when people are like you seem so much happier and i'm like actually i'm a lot angrier because i'm exactly the same person that i was before i actually was in a better place in my life before and y'all treat me better and with more respect now because you like the way that i look who did i'm angry who did you lose weight for me are you sure absolutely me absolutely then it's all that

01:55:44 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 1:

matters no but it's not because that's not how the world you worry too much about what other people think and you don't worry about yourself you need to you need to first off a get the hell off of all these goddamn social media sites and you don't need it for your job because you know what it's doing it's making you pissed on the air and it's hurting your job you need to you need to take care of you and be happy for what you've done I have seen nothing but people when you post something the social engagement people go crazy over you and that is not a lie and when you do this and then you see one comment that's a negative you got to start looking at the positives more than the negatives and start writing the rest of that stuff off you lost weight for yourself not to make yourself look better but to be healthier you want to well you want to be okay well and you know what i didn't care about the health you you lost weight you moved to the big city that you wanted to move to you did all that stuff now you know what start enjoying it and stop looking at the haters you know i'm not as eloquent with my words like kevin is um but i will tell you this i've been wanting to tell you for the longest time, stop making everybody else affect how you feel, make yourself affect how you feel. And it's, and it's time, honestly, that you, you start going, you know what? I got to celebrate this and celebrate it in the ways that you know how to celebrate. You're in a great place. Jesus Christ. I would love to live in a beautiful, you know, uh, apartment and have you know fun uh fun times and stuff like that i think that you got to start enjoying it

01:57:24 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 4:

you're you're an incredible person i am enjoying my life okay well i'm thoroughly enjoying my life

01:57:29 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 1:

then stop letting one or two ass toes treat you like this okay okay look at all these people around you here that all love you group hug all of us come on get in here right now group hug Give a squeeze.

01:57:46 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 2:

We all get squeezes. Somebody said Airfog.

01:57:48 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to give you a chance right now to win tickets to Jingle Ball. I cannot wait. Two weeks. For this Jingle Ball, December the 10th. We're going to be at Little Caesars Arena. Kev and I are going to be wearing sweatpants. Up on stage. Matching, huh? Last hour or the hour before we were talking about what we're going to wear to this thing, everybody's like, these guys don't think about what they're wearing any days of the week.

01:58:13 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 2:

Kev will be wearing sweatpants, and it'll somehow look freaking cool. That'll be cool.

01:58:17 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

Listen, two weeks, we'll see. He puts those sweatpants with a good hat on, and I'm telling you what, it works. All right, 844 Mojo Live. Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30. All I know this is I've got to get a haircut beforehand, and Katrina, you better get me in. Last year, the girls got all the haircuts. I'm prioritizing. Katrina's mine. Do not take Katrina from me. I love you. And I'm going to see you at 1 o'clock today. I love you guys. I'm going to see you. Bye, Katrina.

01:58:45 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 2:

Great to see you this morning. Do you like the studio? It's pretty cool, isn't it?

01:58:49 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 3:

This studio took my breath away. You guys deserve to be in such a beautiful atmosphere. I walked in. I had a little tear. I'm really freaking happy for you guys.

01:58:57 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 1:

Quick question for you on the studios and everything like this. Can you help us do a little decorating in the studio? I feel like it's so cool.

01:59:05 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 3:

1,000%. I'll be here next week. Let's go.

01:59:07 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 1:

All right. We need to do some decorating here. I love you guys. God bless you. We'll see you. All right. What do you got, Shannon, this hour?

01:59:13 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 2:

So I'm going to do the story again because it's kind of everywhere this morning. So no details on the death of Liam Payne, apparently. The story is that he was trying to escape from his hotel room when he fell to his death. And the hotel staff was very, very aware that he was trying to use the balcony as means of a way out of there. He hated being holed up in hotel rooms. I have a lot of questions with this, which I'll get to in just a second. My brain's all over the place, but he hated being holed up in hotel rooms. I saw some photos and some surveillance footage going around of this, this meltdown that he had in the hotel lobby just a few hours before this happened. He was clearly either drunk or high hotel staff. It would be like, Kev, if you laid on the ground on your back.

02:00:00 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

and they picked you up by your arms and legs that's how they got him back up to his room at that point and then once he got to his room he made it very clear he did not want to go inside they put him inside of his room um and you know when argentinian authorities discovered his body there were several things that they noticed that were very interesting to them he had a bag strapped around his shoulder and there was a hat near his body both items he was not wearing during that episode in the lobby which means he went into his room he was conscious enough to grab the hat grab the bag and what they think he did was he tried to go from his third floor balcony down to the second floor balcony and then he was going to jump to the ground from there and escape the hotel and obviously that didn't happen i mean we know how that ended um argentinian police are still investigating the final days of leon's life they believe that he was partying with prostitutes He went on this drug-fueled bender that ultimately culminated in that fatal fall. So they think he may have been unconscious when he fell. Which I don't understand. But conscious enough in his room to grab those items. Like, was he sitting in the window or something? Like, how can you be unconscious when you're falling? I, I, yeah.

02:01:17 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 2:

A lot of this doesn't make sense. I don't know.

02:01:19 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And then somebody said that they had found, like, a liquor bottle on the second floor balcony that had something on it that said, for Liam. So somehow that had gotten down to the second floor balcony. I mean, just so many different things that still loose ends that still need to be tied up. Look who is starting her own podcast. Jason Kelsey's wife, Kylie. Now it's her turn in front of the microphone.

02:01:42 - 02:02:00 | Speaker 4:

I was this close to calling it around and find out. And I still might do it. Try me. Sorry. Back to this trailer. Listen, I'm just as shocked as all of you that I'm starting a podcast. But if everyone's going to be talking about me and my family, you might as well hear it from me. Oh, I'd listen to that in a heartbeat.

02:02:01 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 5:

She sounds like a badass. Not going to lie. She was the media one out of all of the family. Was she? Yeah.

02:02:07 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 1:

She should do it.

02:02:08 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 5:

Journalism, PR.

02:02:09 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 3:

I did not know that.

02:02:09 - 02:02:13 | Speaker 1:

She should do it with Taylor. I'm telling you. The two of them together.

02:02:13 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 3:

Do you think she'll have Taylor on that podcast? They have to do an episode. Yeah.

02:02:17 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 1:

Jason Kelsey, by the way, on Monday Night Football is great. We watched it last night.

02:02:21 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 3:

Did he start to dress up? Because for a while.

02:02:23 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 1:

He learns the funniest things, though. He has a very interesting style.

02:02:27 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys know who Hugh Grant is? Of course. I started writing the story, and I'm like, everybody knows who Hugh Grant is, right? Yeah. Okay. Love Actually, guys. One of the best Christmas movies of all time. Don't argue with me. Well, he was sharing his recollection of this very heated Hamptons makeout session that he supposedly had with real housewife of New York City, Luanne DeLessops. No. Countess Luanne? Yes, me too.

02:02:53 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 2:

It came after Luann talked about this during a podcast. Flirting, one-on-one. But I turned around and, oh, so sorry. He goes, oh, that's okay. So I go, can I buy you a shot? I feel terrible. He goes, okay, but I'll come and have a shot with you if you do one with me. So before you know it, we're having shots and making out heavily at the table. The funny part is she tells this whole story. Is that her or you? Yeah, I know.

02:03:18 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 3:

The funny part is I don't think it happened because Hugh Grant got on X and tweeted, Steady on, I do remember meeting a charming real housewife of New York City in a restaurant. But I'd like to stress, it was about 15 years ago. I don't recall shots nor kissing, but her memory might be better than mine. Stop it. Right out. And this is one of the craziest stories I have ever heard. An accused killer claims she got pregnant with another inmate's baby in a Florida jail. How? How, you ask? Well, he passed his semen in saran wrap through an air conditioning vent. Oh, my good.

02:03:58 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 1:

Daisy Link.

02:03:59 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 3:

You got no excuse, Megan. Daisy Link is being held at the Turner Knight Correctional Center for the alleged murder of her husband. She gave birth to a baby girl in June. The child's father, inmate Juan DePaz, impregnated her without ever meeting her in person. They started talking through the vents, formed a relationship, and then they decided, they hatched this plan to tie some bedsheets together. They attached the semen in plastic wrap to it, sent it through the vents, and you know how the rest went. Wow.

02:04:29 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 5:

What other enrichment activities do they have at the jail? Because they need more. They need more. They need more time. How do they come up with this? That's crazy. This is crazy. I can't even. They talk through the vents.

02:04:42 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 1:

They used to always talk about turkey basters and people using a turkey baster. Which, by the way, use turkey basters just for your turkey on Thursday. Happy Thanksgiving.

02:04:51 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I can barely give mojo instruction through a cell phone, let alone a vent. Please pass me your bodily fluid in saran wrap. By the way.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 1:

disgusting. That, don't use me for an analogy.

02:05:03 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, catch up on the podcast on the iHeart radio app or mojointhewinter.com.

02:06:22 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 2:

I think he's walking away. He's walking everybody out. I don't know. He got it, by the way. He's done.

02:06:26 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, will you jump out of your studio and walk these guys out? And then tell Kev to run back to the studio. He's done. All right. Kevin's never coming back here. He's going to end up talking to the salespeople and all that stuff. All right. Here we go. Yeah, last night, did you stay all the way to the end? We did, yeah. What a game. What an ending. Jay Nevy from the baseline.

02:06:50 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Buries it at the horn. Pistons win.

02:06:55 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 1:

Pistons, big winners. Great job, Jade and Ivy. We're going to set you up with the prize. Hang on the phone for just one second. We'll get you all your information for Jingle Ball. Awesome. Thank you. Thank you so much. Hold on one second. All right. It's Mojo in the morning. Shannon, you say that if you knew this about Wes, your husband, you would have never married him.

02:07:21 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Well, I would have given it a lot more sinking than I did.

02:07:24 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 1:

Really? Okay. What was it? What did you find out about Wes?

02:07:28 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 2:

So I have been waiting a year at least to see Wicked. Okay. And I, on Friday night, went to see it with Wes and Lucy and Smith. And I mean, like, I was so ready for this. I had my pink on. Be the good, everybody. We had the seats. We had all. I was so excited. I've seen Wicked five times on the stage. So, like. Popular. I can't even. She almost cried. I love it. If that man leaned over and whispered something in my ear one more time during that movie, I was going to punch him. I was so into it. And at one point, Cav, you'll love this. He leaned over and he goes, is this my payback for the Maxwell concert?

02:08:16 - 02:08:17 | Speaker 1:

First off, no.

02:08:18 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 2:

Second, musicals are what I grew up doing. I never played a dang sport in my whole entire life. Third, I've been waiting so long to see this movie, so shut it. And afterwards, he admitted that the singing was impressive, but he said he cringed every time another dance number started, which is all three hours of the movie. And he just said, I don't like musicals.

02:08:37 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 1:

Do you hate that because of as a spouse of somebody that I like will try to hang out with her and stuff, I will ask her a million questions about whatever things she's watching or shows she's watching. Would you rather us just not go with you then to the shows?

02:08:52 - 02:09:14 | Speaker 2:

And honestly, and I said, I love you so much, but I know now that you are like you, he's never seen a musical. He's never been to the Fisher or the Fox or whatever to see a music ever in his whole entire life. He's never seen one. And so I just said, I know now, thank you that you are not going to be my person. You know what? I love you, but it's going to be, it's going to be Megan. It's going to be my friend, Ashley. It's going to be people who love going to see music.

02:09:14 - 02:09:21 | Speaker 1:

I think that you, I think you take him to one of those shows. It would be better than taking them to a movie with a show that's playing.

02:09:21 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 2:

He said that he can't stand the dancing.

02:09:22 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, no, the thing is, when you see it live in front of you, you're like, oh, my God, these guys are talented. Because I hate, you know, I'm not a big, you know, fan of Wicked. But seeing it live would be way better than seeing just a movie version of it. Because, like, I never got into High School Musical at all. I was never, like, somebody I could watch. I couldn't watch High School Musical on TV. That, to me, like, when I watched, I remember we did a promotion one time, and we had to watch it at a promotion with a bunch of people because we were doing something with Zac Efron. And I remember going, this is awful. Yeah. I also feel like as a guy who's never seen a musical, Wicked is probably not the first one in it.

02:10:00 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 2:

do some time oh see i disagree really yeah yeah i think listen to y'all y'all in unison lion king would be better lion king would be better that's so funny you said that mojo because he goes maybe you should have taken me to look the line yeah right here's the thing though and it's not even just about wicked like this was this was my life from the time i was born until i went away to college i was in every play community theater southgate community players peter pan that was me i went to interlock and arts camp in the summer i was the president of thespian troop 2860 shout out go red devils like this this was this is my it is in my blood and he is just not nope but even more than that just don't poo poo on something that your significant other enjoys to be fair to be fair i did poo poo on maxwell yeah you know but that's just one

02:10:47 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 6:

this is like a whole listen thing i see women going to lions games knitting sometimes and i'm like why did they bring her to this thing like why would a guy bring her to that you know and there's probably some things that you guys don't have to do together you know um don't ask me questions though lydia that's what i don't want call call tracy uh wilson from uh cbs sports by the way we were we screwed that up she just texted me and said that she's uh been waiting for our

02:11:17 - 02:11:34 | Speaker 3:

call abby are you there yeah i'm here what's going on abby hi so i had texted in that my husband um will only agree to watch one musical with me a year and it hurts me it hurts me real bad

02:11:34 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 6:

well maybe take him to a good one so that he likes it more is what are you taking him to

02:11:38 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 3:

i try i try to curate the best ones we've done hamilton we just did wicked and he got more into it when i started explaining like the lore behind it i kind of had to spoil the second part for him um there needs to be a really good backstory or he's not into it hamilton was a great one like

02:11:56 - 02:12:09 | Speaker 6:

i've gone to a lot of musicals but i it was long like i feel like some like if if there was a guy's version of these it would just be one act you know and you could leave an intermission but that's

02:12:09 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 3:

fair we watched it on disney plus so we made it into two movies we watched the that's good the first act, and then we watched the second act for another movie night. Are you a sports

02:12:18 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 6:

girl? Do you like going to sporting events?

02:12:21 - 02:12:35 | Speaker 3:

I would rather go to a sporting event than watch sports on TV. I think it's a lot more interesting, like, being a person, and you're a lot more engaged. Agree. So, yeah, I'll go with him wherever he wants to go, but I get to have him watch one musical a year.

02:12:36 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I agree 100% with that.

02:12:38 - 02:12:44 | Speaker 1:

Popular. You're gonna be popular. I'll teach you the proper boys

02:12:44 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Joe, in the morning. Let me grab a couple more of these calls here. Shannon says that she wishes she never married Wes. He's a horrible human being.

02:12:56 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 2:

I did not say that.

02:12:58 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 6:

Because he doesn't like musicals. Now we know, Wes, what she's really like as a person here. Lisa, what's going on, Lisa? Hi.

02:13:08 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Hi. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Happy Thanksgiving.

02:13:12 - 02:13:28 | Speaker 6:

I have seen this man be so wonderful to her children. This guy is literally one of the greatest step parents I've ever seen in my life. He is truly, I saw him on Saturday, and I looked at the way that he is with Lucy and Smith, and I thought, this girl does not deserve him.

02:13:29 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 2:

This is true as well. This is true as well.

02:13:31 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 6:

But Smith and Lucy do.

02:13:33 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:13:34 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 6:

But now she's upset with him because he doesn't like to go see musicals. What's going on?

02:13:38 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 4:

so yeah so while i was dating my husband he told me the same thing i love musicals and he does not like musicals so i took him to the birmingham theater to see the best little whorehouse in texas we got done and he was i said why did you like it he goes yeah that was pretty good yes

02:13:58 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 6:

you know what's funny about that is it reminds me of when my buddies used to always ask me if i wanted to go to the windsor ballet and i said to him i don't like ballet like i'm never and they're like no no you're gonna like the windsor ballet and i'd never idea what the windsor ballet what is that the windsor ballet because none of you guys know what the windsor ballet is is code terms for they wanted to go to the strip club over in windsor oh that's the windsor ballet and i was like oh okay that was like the idea was we're going over there we're gonna go hang out and watching you know boobies and stuff uh anita what's happening this mojo in the morning

02:14:34 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 5:

good morning how are you guys we're fantastic what's happening so i have a throwback for you mojo this is actually just for you okay because you um gave kyra um a easy bake oven that year and she cried because no one ever gave her something like that i remember so this was

02:14:58 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 6:

actually, so Kyra was a member

02:15:00 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 5:

of the show when she was a little girl all she wanted was an easy bake oven and her family never gave her one they she would talk about how her parents and grandparents couldn't afford it so one year for Christmas I drew her and I got her an easy bake oven and it was no joke the greatest gift I could have ever given anyone because her reaction was so touching yes okay

02:15:22 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 3:

what's up right so you also had a contest at that time of the worst christmas gift ever and we got invited on the show me and my kids i pulled my kids out of school yes i did and um we came to the studio and you picked i think two random people for the worst christmas gift ever and we took pictures and you put this little it was a scarf kind of hideous and you put it on your head We took pictures of it, and you kind of braided around the studio with the scarf on your head. But when you pulled those two names, it wasn't our names, and my daughter was 11, 12 at the time, and she started bawling. And you came over. You were so kind.

02:16:05 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

02:16:06 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 3:

You came over.

02:16:07 - 02:16:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh. Are you crying?

02:16:10 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 3:

And you said, what's wrong? And I said, we're going through a hard time, and I just wanted to bring them a little bit of joy just by coming here was a big deal. but you gave her two high school musicals let me tell you something she's 28 years old now and that was like one of the biggest impressionable times oh wow nita that is awesome thank you for

02:16:35 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 5:

calling and telling us that that's awesome how i thank you i are you guys are you guys doing

02:16:42 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 3:

every christmas they talk about that moment wow what are you guys doing better now are things

02:16:49 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 5:

better for you guys i mean the struggle is real you know yeah but yeah but yeah you have your

02:16:57 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 3:

health you got your family amen heaven i just wanted to say i'm praying for you because i understand and megan don't let anybody steal your joy i literally just yeah i sent her something

02:17:13 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 1:

God, Anita, you're the greatest.

02:17:14 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 3:

You validate you. That's all that matters. For sure. Thank you.

02:17:19 - 02:17:26 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Thank you. Anita, thank you for being such a great person to call us up and change our day today. You made our day.

02:17:27 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 3:

I just try to stay positive with every moment of the day.

02:17:30 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 5:

And I still hate High School Musical. I don't care what you say.

02:17:34 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 3:

You can't.

02:17:35 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 5:

I have to. That's why I wanted to share that story. Wait, wait, wait. What's your daughter's name?

02:17:41 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 3:

Angelina.

02:17:42 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 5:

Angelina. We love you, Angelina. Angelina and Anita, we love you guys.

02:17:48 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving. We appreciate you.

02:17:50 - 02:18:02 | Speaker 5:

God bless you. Chuck has the greatest idea ever since Shannon says that Wes ruined her Wicked experience. Chuck's got an idea for you, Shannon. What's that, Chuck?

02:18:04 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, I think you should go to a nice three-day software conference with Wes. I would rather. that is such a great idea

02:18:13 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 5:

that is hilarious yes let's do that wow

02:18:19 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 1:

he just got back from one darn it oh my we're

02:18:24 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 5:

we're gonna we're gonna arrange that Shannon has to go and she has to attend

02:18:28 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 1:

he really did last week and just get back

02:18:29 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 5:

thank you Chuck

02:18:32 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 1:

honestly though he'd be mad because I'd still find freaking something to buy at a software jokes on him

02:18:40 - 02:19:22 | Speaker 5:

On the phone with us right now, we'll be in town. Hold on a second. Hold on. Why is that not playing through? I had it like all playing through the control board here, and it was so good. You were ready. Oh, it didn't play through. I'll get it for you before you end here, Tracy. Tracy Wolfson from CBS Sports will be doing the, yeah, clap. Yeah. She will be in town for Thanksgiving, spending Thanksgiving in Detroit. which I've got so much stuff to ask you about when you guys do this and you never get to have a Thanksgiving at home because she, along with Jim Nance and Tony Romo, will be doing the Lions game on Thursday. What's up, Tracy? How are you?

02:19:23 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm doing great. I love listening to Conversation of Wicked and Hamilton. Those are my favorite. I love it. When I get the chance, obviously.

02:19:33 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 5:

Didn't you take the kids in your family to go see? What was it that you guys just recently saw on social media?

02:19:40 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 2:

We saw that. We went to the premiere of Santa 1. Red 1. Red 1. Oh, it's me and the Rock Thompson. Yeah. Yeah, the Rock movie. Honestly, it was really fun. Yeah, I saw that yesterday.

02:19:51 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 5:

I actually, can I tell you?

02:19:52 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was good, right?

02:19:53 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

Wait, did you get the invite from the Rock himself? Like, was he at a game or something like that? That's pretty cool.

02:20:00 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 1:

I did not. I got it through Paramount, but we did get a chance to say hi to him, which was pretty cool. And I will tell you, he did send a bar mitzvah message to my 13-year-old, my middle son, so I had a chance to thank him for that. He's one of the best guys ever. He walked up and down that whole premiere to every single person. Talked to them, signed something, kibbutz, I mean, you name it, he took all the time in the world to do that. I was so impressed when I walked away.

02:20:29 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 3:

Can I tell you how impressed I am with you? So I got a chance to hang out with Tracy, and I felt weird saying this, but co-host this event for U of M. Tracy is a Wolverine Go Blue, and her son is also a Wolverine. So will your son be here in Michigan for Thanksgiving, or does he get to go home and then come back to Ann Arbor? Like, how does that work out?

02:20:56 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, he's home. He came home after the Northwestern game, wanted to stay for the final home game. And he came home Saturday very late, and he'll go back next Sunday, which is just, like, ironic, I guess. The two times I'm in Detroit this year to do a game, he's going to be home.

02:21:14 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. That is so crazy.

02:21:16 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 1:

But, yeah, I leave tomorrow first thing in the morning to head out to Detroit.

02:21:21 - 02:21:27 | Speaker 3:

How does this work, by the way? You never get to have a Thanksgiving at home because you're always working on Thanksgiving with Jim Nance and Tony?

02:21:29 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I haven't had a Thanksgiving at home. I've covered the NFL for 11 years, so it's definitely 11. And then even when I did college, we had LSU Arkansas a bunch of times. And so, I don't know, 15-plus years. But we do our Thanksgiving tonight. It's our Tuesday Thanksgiving. It's a tradition we've been doing forever. My mom and her husband come over. She makes all of the old specialties she made growing up for me. and I contribute as well, and it's really small. It's intimate. It's a great tradition for our family. We always look forward to it.

02:22:02 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys, though, the CBS crew, have a Thanksgiving, though, at Ford Field? Like, do they put something together for you?

02:22:08 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 1:

So we do. We actually will do ours tomorrow night with our whole crew, which is very rare. We get not only our production team but our tech team. So it's about over, I think it's about 100 people. We even invite the officials and their families if they're in town.

02:22:23 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 2:

That's great.

02:22:24 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 1:

Which is really cool. Yep, so we'll do that Wednesday night, and then, you know, we serve a Thanksgiving to the winner, basically. You know, they get the turkey leg and a big turkey, whoever wins the game. So, who knows? I mean, who do you think I'm going to be presenting the turkey leg? Oh, come on.

02:22:39 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 3:

You know, Tracy. Yeah, well, the Lions look so good. We've never been this on high here in Detroit, Tracy. This is like, last time I saw you, you could even see it. There's that palpable feeling around after Michigan wins the national championship and then, of course, now the Lions are playing great football.

02:23:00 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 1:

It's awesome. It really is. It makes me so happy. You know, I didn't grow up a Lions fan. I grew up a struggling Jets fan, so it's been painful. So I have no problem adopting another team, and I have no problem making that the Lions.

02:23:13 - 02:23:25 | Speaker 2:

Tracy, talk about the Lions right now and talk about this fandom that the Lions are experiencing traveling from city to city, rooting on their team, and then kind of what's the buzz been around the league as we get ready for this game on Thursday?

02:23:27 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what happens when you win, right? Your fans want to travel with you. You know, they want to be there for every game, be a part of it, for a special season, a historic season. Who knows how this season ends up? And we know, you know, the expectations that are there. The Lions playing tremendous football, certainly playing the best in the league to my, you know, in terms of how I've seen the teams so far. I haven't had a chance to see them in person, and I can't wait because they seem to have it on both sides of the ball. I talk about this a lot, teams that have it, and I talk about Kansas City's just that team. They have it on both sides of the ball. You can just feel it. It's this aura. I talked about the commanders are starting to find it. They're still young, but they have it when you're around them. Detroit has it. They really do on both sides of the football, and then it stems from the top and then down to the coach and to the quarterback and, you know, to both sides of the football, all three sides of the football. And so you just can feel it, you know, it's palpable. And so that's why they're winning, and I expect, you know, I expect to see them in the Super Bowl. I really hope we do.

02:24:39 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 3:

God, Tracy, here's the biggest question of them all. Forget the Lions. What's it like seeing Taylor Swift up close and personal like you have? I mean, she had, but one of the most viral things that Tracy has ever done is a picture of seeing Taylor walk into it. Isn't it crazy when she walks into these games and the amount of people that are. there waiting for her and you would think that after like once or twice of me doing that where i stand and watch her i wouldn't need to still be there every time but for some reason i'm like drawn to it you know i'm drawn to her yeah i just want to be present i just want to and i'm not like a starstruck person you know i'm surrounded by celebrities all time i don't get starstruck about anyone but for some reason she just is captivating and i need to be there every time i was actually disappointed we were at the buffalo game so the buffalo chiefs game and i only had one other chiefs game this season so the fact that i didn't get to see her she wasn't there and i was like

02:25:37 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 1:

she's in toronto not there well jared golf jared golf has a very beautiful uh wife oh she is stunning yeah so you go go and get you put you post her every quarterback exactly exactly and

02:25:53 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 3:

give me all the gossip so i can use it in the dirty in the 30 please that's a little creepy

02:25:58 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 1:

Wait, can I say something real quick? And I know you've got to run. Tracy Wolfson on with us right now from CBS. This woman is one of the nicest human beings you'll ever meet. I have heard nothing but spectacular things about you. I've always been a fan of yours, watching you on television. But the thing that I like the most, and I think every one of our listeners, because we have a huge female listenership here, she is a champion for other women, especially women in media. And I have heard nothing but the greatest things from people that have come up in the broadcasting business of how you will return every phone call. You will answer every email or text message, DM, all that stuff. And you are always there to tell women, hey, continue to work your butt off to be in this business. And you're awesome, Tracy. I love that.

02:26:53 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. That was very kind, Mojo. I really appreciate it. and you know how much I appreciate you. I really enjoyed our time together, and I enjoyed being on the show. So thank you guys for having me, and a happy Thanksgiving to all of you and to all your listeners out there.

02:27:07 - 02:27:14 | Speaker 1:

And, again, I told you, if your son and all of his friends want to go to our Jingle Ball on December 10th, let me know, and whatever tickets they want, they got, okay?

02:27:16 - 02:27:20 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. That's very sweet. All right, go blue, and good luck to your Lions, everyone.

02:27:20 - 02:27:41 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and go Lions. Yes, you cannot say go Lions because they can't root for teams, right? Although we know you're rooting for us. We're rooting for Tracy. By the way, imagine this, Tracy. Imagine that the Lions win the Super Bowl. Your son's going to be right there in downtown Detroit probably at the parade hanging out and partying with all of his Michigan buddies.

02:27:42 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

He definitely will be. You're correct.

02:27:44 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 1:

All right. Love you.

02:27:45 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 3:

We'll tackle that when it happens.

02:27:47 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 1:

All right. I'll talk to you later. We'll see you this weekend.

02:27:49 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 3:

All right. Thanks, guys. Bye.

02:27:50 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 1:

All right. It is Mojo in the Morning. It is time now for Am I the A-Hole. If you think that you could be potentially an a-hole for something that you have done and you want to know if we think that you're an a-hole, you can go to channel 955 on the iHeartRadio app. There's a talkback microphone. Click on that talkback microphone and ask us the question that you've been wanting to ask the question. Am I an a-hole for? And this morning here on the show, we got one.

02:28:18 - 02:28:28 | Speaker 2:

Hi, I have an am I the a-hole. I went through my boyfriend's phone and deleted my nudes without him knowing

02:28:28 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 1:

because I'm going to break up with him soon and he doesn't know. Oh, that's an interesting one. Is she an a-hole for deleting her nudes? Let's get some more details to this whole thing. Tori is on with us. Tori, are you there? Hi. First off, how many nudes did you have to delete out of that phone?

02:28:52 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it was a significant amount. I'm not going to say the number.

02:28:58 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay. So you went in, he didn't know that you were in the phone, and you went in there and you got rid of them all. Did you make sure you deleted them out of the deleted file too?

02:29:09 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, he didn't sleep, so I just went surgically through that phone and took everything out that I didn't want there. And he hasn't noticed it yet.

02:29:20 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 1:

No. And this is actually, to be honest with you, probably a smart thing for a lot of people to do if they're thinking about breaking up so that they don't have their nudes out there. But when are you going to break up with him?

02:29:35 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I'm thinking about it. I don't know exactly the date, but I think I'm going to do it soon. It's like I'm not into this relationship anymore, so it's kind of like I just don't know when.

02:29:47 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 1:

okay hold i want you to do me a favor hold on for one second i don't know lydia if there's a way tory we uh i know we called you because you left us and by the way when you do leave a talk back for am i the a-hole leave your phone number too so that we can have your phone number we won't play

02:30:00 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 5:

on the radio obviously but i want to make sure that your phone line for some reason gets a little bit better because that that kind of sounds a little like like clacky clacky like that um is she an a-hole okay let's ask this question then is she an a-hole for going into her boyfriend's phone and deleting is whose property is that i'm guessing i'm guessing is she still online or we

02:30:24 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 6:

don't know she is but lydia is trying to figure out a better phone line maybe just a yes or no question is she deleting them because she thinks he's going to use them well that's like post them or is she just deleting them like what's the reason hey lead them tori yeah kev asked that

02:30:39 - 02:30:57 | Speaker 10:

question to her are you why are you deleting them why am i deleting them well because if i break up with him and he like is really mad i don't want him doing like some sort of revenge situation where he like posts my news on the internet or whatever see that wouldn't even be my worry and

02:30:57 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I'm going to come right out and say, I don't think you're an a-hole. To me, it would just be, and I understand that this is the risk that you take when you send somebody a nude, but I just wouldn't want him to have them after we were no longer a couple.

02:31:11 - 02:31:12 | Speaker 5:

Perry, what are your thoughts?

02:31:12 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 9:

Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.

02:31:14 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:31:14 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 9:

Hi, Mojo. First time, long time. Hey, Perry's on the phone. She is not an a-hole. I did the exact same thing.

02:31:25 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 5:

Really? Okay. Right before you were going to break up with him?

02:31:29 - 02:31:44 | Speaker 9:

Yeah. Yeah, for sure. You have to protect your, I don't know, your body. There's so much going on right now with the internet and posting and social media. You don't know what kind of revenge they're going to take on you. You have to do that.

02:31:44 - 02:31:47 | Speaker 6:

But if he on the cloud and got it backed up to Google Photos, they're already in there.

02:31:48 - 02:31:51 | Speaker 5:

Right. Somebody sounds like they know this deal. I do.

02:31:52 - 02:31:53 | Speaker 6:

Everything linked to Google Photos.

02:31:53 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 5:

Perry, how did you go in there and do this without him knowing that you had his phone?

02:31:58 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 9:

Oh, he was sleeping. Like, literally, same thing as Tori.

02:32:01 - 02:32:05 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. Drew, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Am I the a-hole? What do you think?

02:32:07 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 2:

Yes, she's an a-hole. She doesn't have a right to go through his personal phone. You know, whatever she sent, even if they aren't nudes, were sent during the relationship. So she needs to talk to him about it first. That's like a complete invasion of privacy.

02:32:22 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 5:

Oh, interesting. Okay. Could you legally be in trouble for doing that? I don't know. Jeremy, what do you think?

02:32:29 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 4:

I think, honestly, well, this is first time call, long time listening. Jeremy? Jeremy's on the phone. Listen, let me just say this one time. She sent those to him because, obviously, they had something going that was good.

02:32:50 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:32:51 - 02:33:03 | Speaker 4:

You can't just go through a man's phone like that and just delete him without that. At least, like, ask him to delete him after the fact that she breaks up with him. Ask him.

02:33:03 - 02:33:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, because that's when we trust him to do it. Yeah, you're right.

02:33:07 - 02:33:14 | Speaker 6:

Like, you obviously wanted him to have him. Notice all the guys are saying you can't. Yeah. So you can't renege the nudes?

02:33:16 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 7:

You know, it's like space. Yes, you can, though, because she technically owns them.

02:33:20 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 6:

I mean, once you sent them...

02:33:22 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 7:

No, she still owns them. She took them. My phone, my choice.

02:33:26 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 5:

Don't be taking her body of choice, my phone, my choice.

02:33:29 - 02:33:46 | Speaker 7:

No, legally it's her because it's the same thing when kids send underage nudes to each other. The person who took them, which usually is the girl, can get in trouble for distributing pornography because they took it and sent it. That's how the girls get in trouble most of the time, which is so ridiculous.

02:33:46 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 5:

Megan, then, what would be the case if he took the pictures of her?

02:33:50 - 02:34:05 | Speaker 7:

Then technically he would own them. But if she takes them and sends them, they are hers. And that's how they get dudes on revenge porn. Because when they go and post them on these pornography sites, they will sue for copyright infringement because they're her photos.

02:34:05 - 02:34:08 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up, Brittany? What do you think? Am I the a-hole is what we're doing right now?

02:34:08 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 9:

I don't think she's the a-hole, but I had a question. Did she delete the pictures out of the recently deleted? Because if not, he would.

02:34:15 - 02:34:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Mojo asked her that.

02:34:16 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 5:

I asked that question, yeah. Oh, you do? Yeah.

02:34:19 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 10:

I'm here. I did think of that, and I did delete the message. It's not going to matter if you've got a Google backup.

02:34:25 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Jamie? Hi.

02:34:27 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I definitely think she's not the a-hole, but she shouldn't be storing those pictures because even when you delete them, you can still get them back.

02:34:37 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, everybody was saying that, like Kevin brought up. You've got to be really careful. It's on the cloud somewhere. Stacey, what's up? It's Am I the a-hole.

02:34:45 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 8:

Hey, guys. So I totally wish I would have done this with my ex-husband. I mean, I honestly didn't know he was going to leave me, but about six months after he left, I get a picture of myself come up on my phone and he says, do you remember this?

02:35:00 - 02:35:06 | Speaker 7:

day oh it was yesterday and i missed you and i was like he left you and he still was sending

02:35:06 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 2:

pictures back to you though why would he do that that's like that's like trying to uh he had a

02:35:12 - 02:35:19 | Speaker 7:

problem and i think honestly he left us because he didn't want us to go downhill with him what a

02:35:19 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 1:

jerk off give him that much wow could you imagine you know if your ex's news popped up in your phone like in the memory section like one this day it would not be okay wow erica am i the a-hole your

02:35:32 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 5:

thoughts on tori here uh my thoughts are she's not the a-hole and if this is the kind of person that you need to worry about revenge porn then it sounds like breaking up is the right decision

02:35:41 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 2:

right yeah that's a good point although alexa says she is the a-hole in her reasoning all deals with

02:35:50 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 6:

just being honest is that right yeah she's an a-hole for deleting them i do think she's an a-hole

02:36:00 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 2:

for not being transparent tori when do you think that you'll be transparent with him and tell him that that you did this or that you're breaking up i mean i think it can all come at once like

02:36:10 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 4:

when i tell him i'm breaking up i can you know tell him the pictures are gone what do you think

02:36:16 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 1:

he'll be more hurt by the breakup or the fact that he'll hang on this note i don't know and what

02:36:23 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 2:

happens if he notices before she breaks up oh is he gonna think it's user error or some kind of uh he's gonna be calling apple this year i'm subbing turkey for alcohol so i can tolerate my family happy thanksgiving from mojo in the morning all right uh war the roses in just moments Then we have a whole bunch of other stuff to get to. I wanted to try to give you an opportunity to win maybe a free turkey for the Thanksgiving holiday. Although I always feel like weird, what it will be is it will be a Kroger gift card. And you can do whatever you want with it. Because by now, don't you already have your turkey unless you haven't gone shopping yet for it? I always feel like sometimes it's like, we call it a turkey.

02:37:10 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 3:

So my turkey was purchased.

02:37:12 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:37:12 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 3:

not by myself on sunday we talked about this yesterday okay and it it has been thawing since

02:37:16 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 2:

sunday is that how it's supposed to be um is it still it is still frozen i'm just trying to pretend

02:37:22 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 3:

that i know what i'm talking about when i go home today somebody somebody's husband's in charge

02:37:27 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 2:

is is it a is it a turkey that's frozen costco turkey okay so it's just been sitting in a sink somewhere or whatever or in the fridge outside it's outside wait outside your house yeah what What if that turkey gets taken away? In the garage. That would be hilarious.

02:37:45 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 3:

It's in the garage, but it's outside, yeah.

02:37:46 - 02:38:04 | Speaker 2:

I love, by the way, no joke, the only good thing about how cold weather gets, cold weather gets great because you don't need your refrigerator as much as you, you know, you can throw stuff outside. I almost said it. You can throw stuff outside in your garage or you can throw it out in your back patio, but be careful of the back patio thieves.

02:38:05 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

Dude, because the squirrels ate my cake.

02:38:07 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 2:

There are always animals, right, that take it or neighbors. That are animals. But I don't know. Shannon, that is a good question. I do not know the answer to it of how long it should take to, like, thaw a turkey. I'm telling you, after the turkey that we had turkey yesterday from Steve's Deli for our potluck. That was the best. I don't ever think I ever want to cook a turkey ever in my life.

02:38:35 - 02:38:40 | Speaker 1:

I will forever get a turkey from Steve's Deli after that. Yes. I just talked to Tony Giovanni. He said this was the best potluck.

02:38:40 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 2:

he's ever had it was it was no joke i know joe kev i think that you are the reason why we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna tell everybody that that's the case because you gave everybody such a thing to step up to because they did not want it to be a bad uh potluck this year all right um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 win tickets to go to our jingle ball uh here are some answers for you. One day for every five to 10 pounds thawing, says 734. 313 says, yes, Shan. But that doesn't really answer anything,

02:39:19 - 02:39:21 | Speaker 3:

I don't think. No, that it's supposed to be out there.

02:39:21 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 2:

It's supposed to be out there? Hold on. Michelle has an answer. I didn't believe him. Michelle, what's up?

02:39:27 - 02:40:11 | Speaker 6:

Oh my gosh, this is so crazy. I've been trying to call you guys for years. And then I just heard you guys talking about Shannon's turkey. This is my time, Michelle. i am because i haven't bought mine yet so anyway but i would say take it out of the garage and usually i always leave mine in the sink okay and if it gets down the day yeah then i would just put some water and you know hot water fill the sink up no hot water this is why i'm not touching anything guys yeah hot hot water is actually not good to do for the thing because it right it will it will make it uh i think it makes it tough when you do

02:40:11 - 02:40:20 | Speaker 1:

that yeah it's not a good idea you can leave that just leave it all wrapped up and stuff don't don't forget to pull out those gizzards and all that good stuff get the gizzards baby

02:40:20 - 02:40:43 | Speaker 6:

i remember one year my sister did not pull the gizzards out actually we had two years in our house one year no gizzards were pulled out and took forever to try to cook because it had the insides in it and then the other year my sister called up the uh the store that she got the turkey from and complained because there wasn't enough white meat on there like breast meat turned out

02:40:43 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 4:

she had the turkey upside down oh my god shaney's granny used to make gravy with the gizzards really That was good stuff. Yeah. No, thank you.

02:40:52 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 6:

And I'm telling you, this year I'm getting collard greens because I'm telling you, Cav and a bunch of listeners have been telling us the last couple of days that collard greens are their favorite part of Thanksgiving. Tony.

02:41:03 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 5:

You got to have smoked turkey in the collard greens. He can't hear you. I have heard that. Tony. Travato. Tony. Travato. Come in here real quick.

02:41:14 - 02:41:25 | Speaker 6:

Hold on. Hold on one sec. All right. Tony is going to come in the studio here Tony first time caller by the way

02:41:25 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 1:

Michelle we're talking about the potluck

02:41:32 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 6:

we're talking about the potluck how great was the potluck yesterday

02:41:35 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 7:

I love the potluck I know Kev's a fan of potlucks I was thinking of him the whole time Megan by the way I don't know if you know this Megan makes amazing cookies. She is Betty Crocker. She is Betty Crocker.

02:41:50 - 02:41:51 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. It's my fallback.

02:41:51 - 02:41:57 | Speaker 7:

Lester, the banana cream, whatever that was. Banana pudding. It's so good. Unbelievable.

02:41:57 - 02:42:21 | Speaker 6:

Instead of potlucks, after the first of the year, why don't we do a bake sale here? And everybody who can bake, Megan, you'd make so much money doing that. Yeah. You're so talented. Seriously. Thank you. It's my passion. I love it. It would be more money than any talent fee that you get paid for going out and doing a two- or three-hour appearance. You would just sit there and sell all your stuff to Tony.

02:42:21 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 7:

Megan, you could have a side hustle doing it. No kidding. And Kev, I didn't find a single cat hair on anything. Oh, there was one.

02:42:29 - 02:42:30 | Speaker 5:

There was one.

02:42:30 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 6:

It wasn't cat, though, I don't think.

02:42:32 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 5:

And that green bean casserole?

02:42:33 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 6:

It might have been rat. I don't know. But everybody had good stuff. I'll tell you that. Who made this spaghetti squash? That was so good.

02:42:44 - 02:42:45 | Speaker 5:

That's something I would never.

02:42:45 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 6:

It must have tasted better than it looked. No, honestly, spaghetti squash is, I did a spaghetti squash diet one time. It was amazing. We just ate spaghetti squash all the time. And it was so filling and it has zero calories in the thing. It was so good.

02:43:01 - 02:43:04 | Speaker 4:

Is it Sari? Sarai? Oh, yeah, Sari.

02:43:05 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:43:05 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 5:

She made the spaghetti squash.

02:43:07 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I couldn't kick her out of a crowd. She's super talented. Is she? Where's she at? She's great.

02:43:14 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 4:

She usually works in an office. She is right there.

02:43:18 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 6:

That is her right there? That's her. In the red sweater? That's her. Snow White. I did.

02:43:28 - 02:43:28 | Speaker 6:

02:43:28 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 4:

Shannon. Terrible. What do you got in this hour of Dirty on the 30? Where are the roses next?

02:43:34 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 4:

Dirty on the 942s yesterday. Hey, Eric and Lyle Menendez's case was back in front of a judge. They were not there in person. I know some people thought they might be. They were listening in on the phone during this status hearing regarding their resentencing. The judge allowed testimony from two of the brother's aunts because of health concerns. Audio kind of tough to hear, but essentially they're saying we want them out and home.

02:44:00 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 3:

I do want them home. They should never have been in such a different situation. presented themselves. What can a kid do when it's brothers? I can't stand it.

02:44:18 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the judge ultimately pushed back the next scheduled hearing to January. This is

02:44:22 - 02:44:53 | Speaker 2:

attorney Mark Garagos. The judge has now set January 30th and 31st as the days for a plenary or fulsome hearing on the resentencing and by january 30th or 31st we're hoping that by the end of that or sometime sooner that we will in fact get the brothers release over the weekend

02:44:53 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 4:

khalid was outed by one of his ex-boyfriends an ex that he dated years ago and we talked

02:45:00 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 6:

yesterday about how he handled it on x basically by saying yes i'm gay i wasn't trying to hide it it's just not anybody's business so let's all move on with our lives but having a sexuality revealed online was not as upsetting as another rumor or rumors that went around about him there were a bunch of accusations about his quote-unquote illicit drug use domestic abuse and seeking sex workers to pose as his romantic interests so last night he posted a video to x to address

02:45:33 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 1:

these allegations i've never done cocaine a day in my life i don't place myself in those scenarios i'm not in those surroundings i smoke weed and i drink a little bit but i've never done cocaine a day in my life let's tackle this escorting thing i've never paid for sex a day in my life ever i've never paid anybody to date me i've never paid anybody to be in a relationship with me

02:46:00 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 6:

and lastly lindsey lohan is glowing lately and the internet is abuzz over her new face at her recent appearances after years and years being away from the hollywood spotlight aesthetics doctors estimate that lindsey could have spent up to three hundred thousand dollars in plastic surgery procedures to achieve her new look dr betterage who is the founder of the london-based clinic, JB Aesthetics, shared on Instagram the cosmetic tweaks. He believes she may have undergone a minimally invasive facelift, an upper eyelid surgery, a nose job, and a surgical brow lift, along with Botox, lip lift, lip fillers, and veneers. I want that eyelid

02:46:40 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 2:

surgery so bad. It's beautiful. What does that

02:46:44 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 5:

do? Does it just make sure eyes less droopy or something like that?

02:46:48 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, essentially. I have hooded eyes now because my eyebrows have fallen. hooded eyes.

02:46:54 - 02:46:58 | Speaker 6:

Can you point to like where that is? It's actually a really popular surgery. Like this part? Yeah. Under the eye, between eyebrow and eyelids?

02:46:58 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 2:

Like if I look at you normally, you can't see my eyelids because the upper part falls over.

02:47:03 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 5:

Got you. I've never, like I never notice this.

02:47:06 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 6:

No.

02:47:07 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 5:

Isn't it funny? I don't notice it either.

02:47:09 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 6:

I know.

02:47:09 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 5:

We notice everything on ourselves, but nobody ever really notices.

02:47:12 - 02:47:20 | Speaker 6:

I notice it because I am into makeup and so it makes makeup a lot harder. Oh, okay. Yeah. All right. For all of today's Dirty Cuts Up on the podcast on the free iHeart Radio app,

02:47:39 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 2:

I think the turkey will be fine.

02:47:41 - 02:47:42 | Speaker 5:

Turkey will be okay?

02:47:43 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 2:

Turkey will be perfect. Okay.

02:47:45 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 5:

We're just trying to make sure that the turkey's okay. If Shannon screws up just the thawing part of the turkey.

02:47:50 - 02:47:53 | Speaker 6:

No, this is not me. This is Wes. I just wanted to make sure I believe what he's telling me.

02:48:19 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 5:

Bethany, you think that your husband is cheating on you?

02:48:23 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just kind of have a sort of bad feeling.

02:48:26 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 5:

And who is it that you think that he's cheating with? There's a girl at work. Will you tell everybody what he does for a living?

02:48:35 - 02:48:41 | Speaker 2:

He is a bartender. So she works at the bar with him. Spending late nights together.

02:48:42 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You kind of told us in your submission that you sent in to us to do War of the Roses that you do hang out at his work a lot. Is it because you've worried that he's cheating on you?

02:48:57 - 02:49:05 | Speaker 2:

No, no. For a while, usually just like one night a week, I'll go and kind of like hang out at the bar while he's working just to kind of hang out with him.

02:49:07 - 02:49:17 | Speaker 5:

And have you noticed anything between the two of these guys or because she's somebody that's kind of newer working there that it's different than it has been in the past?

02:49:17 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 2:

I think at first I didn't really notice it. You know, I noticed she was new, and he kind of brushed her off. I think as time has sort of gone on, I've noticed that they've become, like, a lot more friendly. And then, like, a week ago something happened that just kind of made me have some pause.

02:49:35 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 6:

What happened?

02:49:35 - 02:50:12 | Speaker 2:

um so i came into the bar and they didn't see me and i felt like they were kind of touchy-feely in a way that made me feel uncomfortable he was touching her they were kind of touching each other it just it felt flirty what did he do or she do when they saw that you were there they just split apart really fast okay because at first i was gonna ask bars are cramped sometimes you need to put your hands places to be like i'm behind you

02:50:12 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 4:

but as soon as you separate yeah so have you any friends that work with him or any other people that are there that you've could depend on to give you any uh hints on what's going on like sometimes you become friends with the people that uh your spouse works with yeah i would say i'm

02:50:36 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 2:

more friendly with them but they're definitely more his friend so you know if something was happening i'm not to be honest with you 100 sure that they'd tell me they're his friends so can i

02:50:48 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 1:

ask you this question because it definitely sounds like they're flirty like that is that's not up for speculation but would would he have time to take it past that like is he not coming home certain nights or coming home late or going in early or like what what does all that look like i don't i

02:51:05 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 2:

don't know i think that for me his schedule has has felt the same like he's not coming home any later than he normally does i mean you know it's a bar so occasionally there's a late night but that's normal like not every night but a saturday night yeah sometimes he will be he will be coming home at two three in the morning because that's just that's just working at a bar all right we're

02:51:30 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 4:

going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses can you mute your phone are you on a phone that has like a mute button on it yes i i can mute my phone all right mute it and we're hoping that he sends the flowers to Bethany, and we're going to see if her husband is cheating on her. It's the Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses.

02:52:03 - 02:52:04 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

02:52:05 - 02:52:06 | Speaker 1:

Hi, is this Jarrett?

02:52:09 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 3:

Uh, yeah.

02:52:10 - 02:52:43 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Jarrett. My name is Nicole and I'm calling you from an online floral company called rosesbloom.com. I'm calling with an offer for some free flowers. It's two survey questions. We're just trying to get our name out there as a new option for sending flowers. And the flowers can go out today. They can be sent to anybody in the country, anywhere in the country, totally free of charge. And so I'm just wondering if you've got a minute or two to answer some survey questions and get some free flowers. um yeah sure okay why not okay have you purchased flowers in the last six months jared

02:52:43 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 3:

uh when was valentine's day i don't think so i'm not sure

02:52:49 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

okay and do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months

02:52:53 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 3:

again when is valentine's day yes probably i don't know so you send flowers one time a year yeah i mean you know isn't it required on that day you gotta send them to somebody

02:53:05 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 1:

okay well um today they're free so it'll be a bonus but as a thank you for participating in that survey roses bloom.com is now going to give you that dozen long stemmed red roses so i need to go ahead and get some information from you starting with the first and the last name of who you want these flowers to go to

02:53:24 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 3:

yeah okay um let's send them uh to chelsea

02:53:29 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 1:

okay and what's her phone number

02:53:34 - 02:53:41 | Speaker 3:

uh i don't have it off the top of my head do i need to give the phone number i do need the

02:53:41 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 1:

phone number because um i'll explain in a second we need her phone number for the delivery

02:53:45 - 02:53:53 | Speaker 3:

okay hang on a second i got it give me a minute all right it's uh

02:53:53 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and what's her relationship to you?

02:54:07 - 02:54:08 | Speaker 3:

We work together.

02:54:10 - 02:54:15 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I'm just confirming that the dozen long-stemmed red roses is okay?

02:54:17 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:54:18 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I'm just going to put co-worker on here. We're also going to go ahead and record a voice memo. And this is part of the reason that I needed, in this case, Chelsea's phone number. So she's going to get a text message alerting her that she has a delivery. She'll go out, see the flowers, and then she'll be able to play this little voice memo, kind of in place of a card that I'm going to record with you here. Does that make sense? Okay. Yeah, sure. Yeah. Anything you want to say, you can make it long, short, however you want. But I'm going to count you down and then you just go. Three, two, one.

02:54:52 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 3:

uh hey chels um hope you're having a good day and here's a little something for you i will probably

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 4:

to make your day a little bit better.

02:55:03 - 02:55:04 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:55:05 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 1:

And Jarrett, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:55:13 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's fine. Okay. And Jarrett, I'm gonna jump on just to kind of wrap the call up here and get you on your way and we'll send the flowers off. But I have to let you know one last thing. that while you have been sending flowers to your co-worker, your wife, Bethany, has been listening to this and just heard you send another woman flowers. Okay. You understand that your wife just heard you send flowers to another woman, red roses.

02:55:52 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay. It's not Valentine's Day. I'm just sending them to somebody who would enjoy getting some free flowers. Big deal.

02:56:03 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 2:

So there was nothing meant in sending flowers to her? There's nothing like underlying that you're doing that would make your wife uncomfortable?

02:56:17 - 02:56:20 | Speaker 3:

Nope. There's nothing that I'm doing.

02:56:20 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 1:

I would be pretty uncomfortable if I was your wife.

02:56:27 - 02:56:28 | Speaker 4:

Bethany? Well, it's a good thing you're not my wife.

02:56:29 - 02:56:39 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Can I ask you a question, though? If your wife was giving gifts to her male coworkers, would you be upset or would you just say, well, that's a thing you do?

02:56:40 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, I wouldn't be upset. That's just something you do, you know, with friends.

02:56:45 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 2:

Bethany? Yep. What are your thoughts?

02:56:54 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 5:

I'm sort of speechless. Obviously, my feelings are really hurt. I wasn't really expecting this, and it just feels really inappropriate.

02:57:12 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 2:

Is this the person that you were telling us about?

02:57:17 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:57:17 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 2:

Who is this person that he sent these to?

02:57:24 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 5:

This is actually another girl that works.

02:57:28 - 02:57:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, so he has a track record. A pattern.

02:57:36 - 02:57:51 | Speaker 2:

Jared, do you think we're over analyzing this? Because you just seem so nonchalant about it. Normally, if we catch somebody that is doing something they shouldn't be doing, usually they're more defensive. You don't seem defensive at all.

02:57:53 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 4:

What do I have to be defensive about? You guys didn't catch me doing anything.

02:58:00 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Disagree. Well, we caught you not sending flowers to your wife.

02:58:06 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Is there a rule that you can only send flowers to your wife, that you can't send them to friends?

02:58:13 - 02:58:20 | Speaker 1:

I guess I would just argue that I would want to be top of mind and the first choice if I were your wife.

02:58:23 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 2:

Do you want us to still send these off?

02:58:26 - 02:58:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm allowed to send flyers to anyone I want.

02:58:31 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Bethany, do you want to talk to Jared off the air?

02:58:36 - 02:58:51 | Speaker 6:

i think i'm gonna take a little bit to just kind of process this information and then yeah i think we're unfortunately gonna have to have a discussion okay hang on one second okay

02:58:51 - 02:58:56 | Speaker 2:

okay busted again

02:58:56 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 3:

it's your home for war the roses mojo in the morning

02:59:06 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 2:

We'll do it in the morning, War of the Roses. And Jared's sending flowers not to his wife, but sending it to a girl that he works with. Not the girl, though, that his wife was most worried about. I mean, you work in the service industry, you get to become friends with lots of people. And working, obviously, in a bar is an interesting situation, especially for what she witnessed. But do we have a clear-cut cheater? I don't know. Your thoughts.

02:59:38 - 02:59:39 | Speaker 7:

Well, it's not Valentine's Day.

02:59:40 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, right, Brie? It's not Valentine's Day. What's happening? Hi.

02:59:45 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. How are you?

02:59:46 - 02:59:47 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

02:59:48 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 5:

I just found it funny that he can't send flowers to his wife any other day of the year besides Valentine's Day. Right. But it's open to other reasons.

03:00:00 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 2:

and every other day of the year yeah i i will tell you this though again just like past war of the roses i think even the last war of the roses that we had these guys are not nervous when we're like we've we've had guys like we have guys that are get stumbly over their words and don't know what to do after they've sent the flowers to their wife and then we got these guys like Jarrett who to him he doesn't think he's doing anything wrong which is more infuriating to me it's convincing for me though

03:00:32 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 7:

so you don't think he did anything wrong?

03:00:34 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 2:

I think well first off let me say what's the wrong? yeah he sent flowers to another woman that's not his wife but is he actually cheating? I don't necessarily know we got a cheater the way that Megan your reaction was on this War of the Roses and Shannon's reaction was on this War of the Roses and maybe Kev too I think Kev is kind of hold them back a little bit but the way that you guys reacted it was like we walked in on them in

03:00:59 - 03:01:17 | Speaker 6:

bed together the guy sent flowers to another girl i think too that any woman knows in her gut when she sees the way that her man is interacting with another female if he's heterosexual you know if it's more than like a friendly co-worker relationship you just know it's like this

03:01:17 - 03:01:24 | Speaker 7:

spidey sense we have if you're my person and i am not first of mine top of mine first in line

03:01:24 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 2:

for you at all times what are we doing well i will say this there's not a guy in this listening audience that has never gotten in trouble by their significant other for putting another woman whether it be a mother a sister a co-worker i got in trouble before for stuff that i've done for you guys that from chelsea would be where she said wait a second what are you doing mothers and

03:01:49 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 7:

sisters are completely different from co-workers family is different from jobs and if it's a

03:01:56 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 6:

co-worker don't you think you say to your partner like hey it's megan's birthday today

03:02:00 - 03:02:03 | Speaker 2:

we should send her flowers but the problem is when you forget your wife and don't get her

03:02:03 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 1:

something on her birthday i think i'm sorry i think sometimes though you don't have that conversation with your spouse to make it more of a communal action you just take it upon yourself able to say hey i know chan is going through something let me send her some flowers this doesn't feel like that type of situation where that person is going through something it sounds like he's been going into something what's up kelly if you know yeah that's right hi going into

03:02:31 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 2:

something meaning a vagina what's going on i'm sorry kelly what's going on hi i just wanted to

03:02:36 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 4:

say i think he did get caught he is very smug and he may not have physically got caught but he got caught but he doesn't give uh two bits yeah about getting caught he's very smug and he just kept saying well if she didn't catch me doing anything i'm not getting caught i do have to say this

03:02:55 - 03:03:11 | Speaker 2:

though uh their conversation on uh the offline according to lydia was not combative at all and it almost came across as if uh bethany was forgiving of what he did in his actions Gloria, what's up?

03:03:11 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. I just wanted to say, I know like how you were saying, Mojo, that like you kind of don't feel like maybe, you know, he got caught. But with Shannon and Megan, it's like it is a woman thing. And like this man is a narcissist. Like listening to him speak and the way he spoke to his wife, if she ever even did physically cheat him, he'd be the type to look at her and tell her how wrong she is. Like he would never admit it. Like, you can tell he's 100% of a cheater, and he's a narcissist. Yeah. And, I mean, I'm kind of shocked that they're married. Like, that threw me out through a loop. Like, she's very well-spoken and collected, and he is just, like, he sounds like an idiot. He sounds like a dummy.

03:03:52 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 1:

Opposites attract.

03:03:55 - 03:03:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely, right?

03:03:58 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 2:

I will tell you, though, somebody sent the greatest text in. Mojo may have something here. In a court of law, did we catch him cheating? That's true. Like, is this, you only read that because it said Mojo Mayhem or something. For sure.

03:04:11 - 03:04:12 | Speaker 7:

At the same time.

03:04:12 - 03:04:14 | Speaker 2:

There's a lot of other ones here that say the same thing.

03:04:14 - 03:04:23 | Speaker 7:

At the same time, do we catch them cheating? No. Do we catch anybody actually cheating during this segment? No, we don't find anybody with their pants down. That doesn't mean. We have them.

03:04:24 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 2:

We have them. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

03:04:25 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 6:

We got in massive trouble, but we did.

03:04:27 - 03:04:35 | Speaker 2:

And, and honestly, when you're hearing them talk to each other or you're hearing the card that he put, that card did not seem very romantic. Paris, what's up?

03:04:35 - 03:05:29 | Speaker 3:

hey how's it going good what's going on oh you know i just feel like jared could have probably communicated with his wife what was going on and you know just made sure that she felt okay about it since they are married and it just shows you know respect for his wife like you know just a simple text or phone call yeah so you don't think he's cheating either speculations regarding Thank you.

03:05:00 - 03:05:21 | Speaker 5:

I mean, who is to say if he's cheating, right? We don't know. We just know that their interaction with a different girl made her uncomfortable. I guess we don't know if they talked about that either. But if you know she's feeling some way or she has some type of uncertainty, then absolutely, you know, you kind of want to do whatever you have to do to make sure that, you know, the woman you go home to is okay. Happy wife, happy life. Right.

03:05:21 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 7:

And that, by the way, is a great point to make of this is this is about he touched this girl while they were working together. in a way that seemed romantic or seemed, you know, inappropriate. And that is, that's the bigger issue here. But he did it also in a very public setting. He did it in front of other coworkers.

03:05:41 - 03:05:43 | Speaker 6:

And if he, what does that mean?

03:05:43 - 03:05:56 | Speaker 7:

Because if you're, if you're working in a bar and you're behind the bar and you touch a girl or touch somebody that's not your wife and your guys are having sex with each other, are you going to openly do that? Yeah, if you don't care. Really?

03:05:56 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 3:

And if you're, if your partner isn't there.

03:05:59 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 7:

I don't know.

03:06:00 - 03:06:03 | Speaker 3:

He was not aware that she had walked in when she saw this.

03:06:03 - 03:06:08 | Speaker 7:

I would think that he would be hiding that. I don't know. Toya, what's up?

03:06:09 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo. So here's my thing. I think, is it clear cut that he's cheating? No, right? There's a lot of factors that make it seem like he is. But it's the fact that after his wife said she was uncomfortable, and then you said, do you still want us to send it? and he had the audacity to say yes. What? I know. So I think it's that point. She made it clear to you, no matter what you thought, that's your wife. After she says she's not comfortable, then you say, okay, I'm sorry. Even if you thought it wasn't wrong, let's talk about it. He did not care at all. I wish my husband would. He'd be eating at her house for this Thanksgiving. Okay, because listen, you better find somebody else's house to go to because I ain't cooking a thing. All right.

03:06:58 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 1:

I love y'all.

03:06:58 - 03:07:01 | Speaker 7:

Love you, Toya. What's up, Courtney? Hi.

03:07:02 - 03:07:09 | Speaker 1:

Hey. No, you were just saying about like your mom or your sister and, you know, possibly other people making a mistake and putting them first.

03:07:09 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 7:

Other women, yeah.

03:07:11 - 03:07:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, but that's completely different. You're not going to, you know, sleep with your mom or your sister.

03:07:16 - 03:07:19 | Speaker 7:

We do broadcast on the iHeart app to some communities that do.

03:07:19 - 03:07:20 | Speaker 1:

Stop it.

03:07:20 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 7:

I got to be honest with you. Don't yuck their yums. There's some people in Ohio that I've seen that act a little funny. Don't do that.

03:07:25 - 03:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Don't do that. Don't say that.

03:07:27 - 03:07:32 | Speaker 7:

Nate, what's going on? Hi. Nate, what's up?

03:07:32 - 03:07:47 | Speaker 4:

Man, sorry, I just heard you guys, man. I just got to say, I don't think he's cheating, though. I work at a bar myself, and, you know, none of my cool ladies have ever been mad about it. I've always been open. You call your girlfriends your old ladies.

03:07:47 - 03:07:51 | Speaker 7:

Wait, open about what, though? This is the guy that's on my side.

03:07:52 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you get him.

03:07:54 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 7:

Nate, what bar do you work at, Nate?

03:07:56 - 03:08:02 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes you've got to stand on business. I work in this little dive bar out in the sticks.

03:08:02 - 03:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Who's putting up with your business?

03:08:04 - 03:08:05 | Speaker 4:

But the same stuff happens.

03:08:06 - 03:08:09 | Speaker 7:

I bet he's got a very hot wife or girlfriend or whoever.

03:08:09 - 03:08:10 | Speaker 4:

Old lady.

03:08:10 - 03:08:11 | Speaker 7:

Old lady, right?

03:08:12 - 03:08:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

03:08:13 - 03:08:13 | Speaker 7:

All right, buddy.

03:08:14 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 4:

I've actually had compliments.

03:08:16 - 03:08:17 | Speaker 7:

You've had compliments.

03:08:18 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 6:

Now, Nate, have you ever slept with one of the ladies you work with?

03:08:23 - 03:08:34 | Speaker 4:

Unfortunately, yeah. But, I mean, I didn't really want to. She asked me to, so I had to be a little bit of a service man. By the way, this is the guy that's on your side.

03:08:34 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 7:

Lydia, this is the only call you could get on my side on this one. Thank you. Appreciate that.

03:08:39 - 03:08:41 | Speaker 4:

No problem, brother. You know I got you.

03:08:41 - 03:08:47 | Speaker 7:

All right. I appreciate it. I'll see you out in the sticks. Y'all be standing over me. I'm glad to see you.

03:08:48 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 4:

Thanksgiving weekend. Not a good weekend to be my pants.

03:08:51 - 03:08:54 | Speaker 6:

Happy Thanksgiving from Mojo in the morning.

03:08:55 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 7:

Bojo in the morning. Everybody always gets amazed when I can't have cottage cheese before the show is over with. Everybody, I know that's not what they get amazed by.

03:09:12 - 03:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Shannon and I were laughing yesterday when your spoon was scraping the container during part of the segment.

03:09:18 - 03:09:19 | Speaker 7:

Doesn't that remind you of old time, Shannon?

03:09:19 - 03:09:20 | Speaker 2:

Yes, it does.

03:09:20 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 7:

Um, uh, everybody gets amazed that we on our show will call out our bosses when they're being a holes and they're amazed that we're still employed by this company only because we have guaranteed contracts, uh, which may be a thing of the past. Who knows? I don't know. But, um, but all I can say is that we do it for you so that you don't have to, unless it's this time of the year. And we're going to bring back something on our show that I think that we've done in past Thanksgivings. I don't think the last Thanksgiving we did it because I don't think we had time. We're going to do a contest here on the show.

03:10:00 - 03:10:45 | Speaker 4:

where we give away free turkeys, but they have to go to your boss because it's time to give your boss a little crap on the radio and get away with it. The contest is something that I don't necessarily encourage you do on your own. I think that you can say that we put you up to this, but it's give the boss the bird. So tell us about your boss and how big of a pain in the ass they are. And just do it relatively quick without saying your company's name or anything like that. And then we'll give your boss the bird. We'll give him the turkey. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Anybody willing to participate in something like this?

03:10:46 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Come on. Would you do that? Tony's talking to somebody right now. Really? Yeah. Could they be voice disguised or making them come off?

03:10:52 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 4:

Actually, they did fix the voice disguising machine, I think.

03:10:56 - 03:10:58 | Speaker 3:

I say they got to do it live, bro.

03:10:58 - 03:10:59 | Speaker 4:

I think they do, too.

03:10:59 - 03:11:03 | Speaker 3:

You've got to have the gizzards to come on air. I like that.

03:11:03 - 03:11:07 | Speaker 1:

No, don't. No. I like it. Come on, Megan. No.

03:11:07 - 03:11:17 | Speaker 4:

I like the idea that, yeah, you're definitely having to be kind of a little risky in doing something like this.

03:11:17 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 3:

Anybody can call them voices, guys, and call out their boss, you know?

03:11:21 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. I'm looking for, do we not have a, I need bird songs. Are there any other than?

03:11:28 - 03:11:30 | Speaker 2:

Fly like a bird. Nelly Furtado, come on.

03:11:30 - 03:11:31 | Speaker 4:

Nelly Furtado?

03:11:31 - 03:11:33 | Speaker 3:

But that's fly like a bird. Shake your tail, Feather.

03:11:33 - 03:11:37 | Speaker 2:

You just said bird song. Oh, shake your tail. That's good. Okay, that's good.

03:11:37 - 03:11:40 | Speaker 3:

Drop down and get your eagle on, girl. How about, how about. I'm coming with him. How about.

03:11:42 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 4:

This song is The Bird. I looked up. Is that okay or not?

03:11:45 - 03:11:49 | Speaker 3:

Bird, bird, bird. I took out 10 seconds to get to the dance floor.

03:11:49 - 03:11:59 | Speaker 4:

Like a little. All right, here we go. Give the boss the bird for a free turkey for Thanksgiving. Leah, are you there?

03:12:00 - 03:12:01 | Speaker 1:

Yep, I'm here.

03:12:02 - 03:12:05 | Speaker 4:

Leah, give the boss the bird right now. Tell us about this boss of yours.

03:12:06 - 03:12:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay. First time, long time. Hey, Leah. Hold that wrong button.

03:12:13 - 03:12:14 | Speaker 4:

There you go. Hi.

03:12:16 - 03:12:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay, you're sitting down for this one?

03:12:17 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 4:

Yes, we are. Believe it or not, we all sit down in this studio. Go ahead.

03:12:21 - 03:12:43 | Speaker 1:

that's crazy um so my dad actually it was a two-year anniversary of his death like three days ago but i was off of work because my dad was passing and my boss knew my dad passed um and made me come into work for an emergency mandatory meeting three hours after my dad died

03:12:43 - 03:12:52 | Speaker 2:

you are absolutely kidding me wow that is awful do you still work for this guy absolutely awful Yeah.

03:12:52 - 03:13:13 | Speaker 4:

We got to get you another job besides this. You dick! What a horrible thing for this guy to do. Yep. That's one thing. No matter how much we ever get mad at our boss, our bosses personally always are great to us, you know? They just do some kind of idiotic stuff every now and again. But hold on one second. Let's get you a gift card, okay?

03:13:14 - 03:13:14 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

03:13:15 - 03:13:25 | Speaker 4:

Hold on one second. Lydia, make sure that Leah gets something nice. We're sorry, Leah, about your dad. Jason, are you there? I am. Jason, would you like to give the boss the bird?

03:13:26 - 03:13:37 | Speaker 2:

I have a great boss story, but I don't want to take the turkey away from that last caller. So I don't want to win. Wait, wait. But here's the deal.

03:13:37 - 03:13:43 | Speaker 4:

She's going to win either way. You're a very nice guy, but go ahead. He just wants to give the boss the bird.

03:13:44 - 03:14:19 | Speaker 2:

I appreciate it. And I'm also, I'm waiting until after Thanksgiving to deliver my walking with a winter wiener, man. That was me. So I told him a lot. And I can't believe that I got through right now because I went to text you guys this morning, my boss story. Well, you know, a few minutes ago. And I sent it to my boss. Oh, you did it. Read it. Oh, I did. I did. I totally did. Read it. I totally did. But I sent two texts. I sent the boss story, which I then copy and pasted to you guys. So it's on there now.

03:14:19 - 03:14:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

03:14:19 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 2:

But then I followed it up with, I think it would be really funny if I gave you his number and we did a three-way phone call.

03:14:27 - 03:14:27 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

03:14:28 - 03:14:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And then I get, so then my response back is a question mark. And I'm like, okay, wait a minute. They've called me before, but they've never asked for clarification. And then I look up and I'm like, oh, I sent this to Ed. Oh, you're going to say to Ed. Oh, poor Ed. And he's like, okay.

03:14:45 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 4:

What's the story?

03:14:46 - 03:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I want to know about that. So here's what I text. So here's what I text. What happened was my boss called me. I drive a taxi. So does he. I listen to you guys every day, all day. And he's like,

03:15:00 - 03:15:29 | Speaker 3:

he's talking to me about baking cookies with his wife and mentions that he would love to be spun around and slapped in the face at the right moment. And he has no idea that my girlfriend was in the car at the time. This became not so public or not so private information. And it was really awkward and really weird. And I just told him about it in a text message because I wasn't telling you guys.

03:15:29 - 03:15:37 | Speaker 5:

By the way, do you talk the entire cab ride? When you're in a cab, are you talking the entire cab ride, aren't you?

03:15:38 - 03:15:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, I mean, unless I'm listening to you guys. I try to talk to some people I don't want to talk to, but a lot of you.

03:15:43 - 03:15:47 | Speaker 5:

Are we driving past the fact that his boss and him talk about spinning each other?

03:15:49 - 03:15:50 | Speaker 4:

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

03:15:50 - 03:15:56 | Speaker 3:

You've got to lump me into this. What kind of cab service is this?

03:15:57 - 03:16:05 | Speaker 5:

Hold on, Dave. Hold on a second there Jason, we're going to get Oh, that's funny, hold on

03:16:05 - 03:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine if Tony called Tony's chair is kind of spinny

03:16:11 - 03:16:21 | Speaker 5:

Dave, are you there? Yes, I'm here Give the boss the bird For a free turkey What would you like to say?

03:16:22 - 03:16:26 | Speaker 1:

So my boss likes to work from home Well, let me first off say First time caller, long time

03:16:26 - 03:16:36 | Speaker 5:

his name is dave she's just messing with you that was funny man

03:16:36 - 03:17:09 | Speaker 1:

so my boss likes to work from home a lot i can't talk too loud because he's actually here uh my boss likes to work from home a lot and then one day a couple weeks ago he decided to uh call in and work from home to get an eye infection and i was mad at him anyway throughout uh you know from a couple from something a couple weeks ago and i ended up telling a couple people that he someone farted on his pillow and he got pink by the end of the day it was going around the whole building oh oh my god by the way who are

03:17:09 - 03:17:24 | Speaker 5:

03:17:25 - 03:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am.

03:17:26 - 03:17:35 | Speaker 5:

We're running into Ryan Seacrest's time right now. He's going to jump on KISS FM in Toledo here in a second. What's going on?

03:17:36 - 03:17:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm a first-time caller. Yes.

03:17:41 - 03:17:43 | Speaker 5:

Lisa's on the phone. Give it the boss the bird.

03:17:44 - 03:17:53 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. I cannot believe this is my call first time, but I love you guys dearly. You've gotten my family through so much.

03:17:53 - 03:17:55 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. That's sweet.

03:17:57 - 03:18:07 | Speaker 2:

But with that being said, Chris Allen was a boss of mine who I got a phone call from work.

03:18:07 - 03:18:07 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

03:18:08 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was at work and I worked on a call center.

03:18:12 - 03:18:12 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

03:18:13 - 03:18:35 | Speaker 2:

Needless to say, I got a message that my little sister had died. Oh, I'm sorry. And my boss knew. And literally, I was in such shock that not only did I lose her, but that someone would be, I won't say on the air, but we all know there's not even a word for a person like this.

03:18:35 - 03:18:37 | Speaker 5:

What did he do? What did he do?

03:18:37 - 03:19:26 | Speaker 2:

He decided to yell at me and look at me because I was sitting at my desk and I hadn't made a decision. Like, I was just in shock. No one expects to lose their little sister, who was in her early 20s. And so, needless to say, he yells at me in front of the entire group and says, are you going to get back on the phone, or are you leaving work? And I didn't say anything to him. Chris Allen. One, because I was in shock. Two, I had amazing people. I would never have said, you just got to walk away from that ignorant. man i'm so sorry never wish that's okay yeah by the way i can't upon people by the way you

03:19:26 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 5:

03:20:00 - 03:20:02 | Speaker 4:

Is Ryan still on middays after we get done?

03:20:02 - 03:20:05 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea. I assume so. Probably, right? He's got to be.

03:20:05 - 03:20:06 | Speaker 4:

All right.

03:20:06 - 03:20:09 | Speaker 3:

Isn't he contractually obligated to be on a thousand stations at all times?

03:20:09 - 03:20:34 | Speaker 4:

Is that how it works? I don't know. Are we done? I think we're done for today. Have a fantastic day. Did you hear what happened this morning on the show? We gave the boss the bird.
