And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.

00:01:28 - 00:01:33 | Speaker 7:

I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know.

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:25 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 5:

i felt like a kid the night before christmas last night i could not sleep i could not get to bed i was anticipating what we got going on on today's show and the next three and a half weeks of shows Good morning, welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show It is so good to have you guys here with us Welcome to Christmas time everybody It's officially underway now Give me some Christmas music please Alright, here we go Yes, welcome to Christmas

00:04:11 - 00:04:17 | Speaker 6:

I didn't see on your Instagram, Mojo Were you up on the ladder putting the Christmas lights up on the house?

00:04:17 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hell no This is all about You know what I did? this entire weekend i read breaking and entering christmas wish letters i had no time for uh for doing anything i didn't go out doing any uh shopping before christmas i went out the day or i'm sorry after uh thanksgiving for black friday i went out the day before and did a little bit of uh hey let's walk around the mall and see what's going on that was a bad idea and then i decided all right i gotta get to these letters i read more than 1500 letters let me say this to This is from a guy who has never read more than two books in my entire life. So I think I equate this to the fact that I've read enough books now for the rest of my life.

00:05:00 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 2:

life and i want and i want to say this to all of our listeners i want you to know that year after year our breaking entering christmas wish program all of us here on the show personally read your letters so if you go to mojos wish.org you can send us a letter there's still time to do it but today's the first day of breaking entering christmas wish and boy it was so exciting to

00:05:19 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

see the fleet of trucks out front and have that feeling like oh it starts today's the first wish and to know that every year we grant more wishes than the year before it's our personal mission to do more every year than we ever do.

00:05:32 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 4:

And today's a big one.

00:05:32 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a very special one, yeah. Special thanks, by the way. I'm going to throw a quick plug out there because they deserve it. To our friends from Red Robin, Imagine Theaters, and Clean View Auto Wash, as well as our friends from Kroger and a whole bunch of other great people. But thank you to Lydia and KP. So you guys last night slept here? Is that right? You guys all camped out to prepare for this?

00:05:59 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, my grandma let us borrow a cot, and we just came out and locked the door.

00:06:05 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

Do we have pictures? Do we post it on? I know you sent a text and stuff. We should make sure that those things get posted to our social media so people can see what things look like here in Santa's little workshop.

00:06:17 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 1:

We've all had to sleep here before for snow emergencies and blizzards and things because we have to tell everybody else what's going on. But this is new for producer KP and Lydia to sleep over just because there's so much work involved in all the work they had to do to prep for this first Christmas wish.

00:06:33 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm jealous. I feel like I missed out on a girls' night, but I think I'm going to be sleeping here.

00:06:37 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there's plenty more to come, Megan. Well, I think I'm going to be sleeping here next week, so if somebody wants to join me.

00:06:42 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

So, Lydia, what was it like to sleep with KP? First off, is she a snorer, or what do we know?

00:06:48 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 3:

No, it was actually really peaceful.

00:06:50 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah? Did you snuggle, or was there separation? Yeah, that cot looked tiny.

00:06:55 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

There was no snuggling, but I was worried that I was going to fart or something because I ordered a pizza for a school.

00:07:01 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

And I'm not kidding when I say Santa's workshop. Lydia, you have been doing shopping extraordinaire on this thing. First off, let me say this. She personally, we've done wishes for many, many years. And all the people that have been part of Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish over the years have done a fabulous job. Lydia, who has been not only a longtime worker here at the station, but she's a longtime listener of the show. This is something for you, Lydia, that you have really taken personally. Like this is something that you, when I said to you, hey, will you do me a favor? Will you head up this? You in a second said yes. And then you came up with ideas of what you wanted to do for all the families to help these families out.

00:07:43 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I love to know exactly what they like, what they want, and everything in between. so we can make this the best Christmas, really.

00:07:50 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

It's unbelievable the heart that she pours into this. And you can tell Lydia's got an unbelievable mother and father because how she is with these families. She's treating them like they're a member of her family. But between you and then KP and then other people around the building here that are doing stuff for us and Shannon and Spike and Megan and Mike and everybody, Reese, we could not do this If it wasn't for the fact that year after year, we almost feel like we have, this is our duty to end the year the right way with breaking and entering Christmas wish. Unlike anything we do, we put, I mean, listen, we put a lot of attention into our phone scams and war of the roses and things that we do on the show, promotions and stuff. This is bigger than that. This is lives, human lives that we're dealing with. Yeah. And many of these people, this might be for them the last Christmas that they're with a loved one. you know, many times we grant a wish and then God forbid that somebody ends up passing and we don't ever like that happening, but at least we know that they had this huge smile. We brought some joy. Yeah. And so, and it's not even Christmas. It's listen, it's November 28th. This is one of

00:09:05 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 4:

the earliest times. Don't you feel? I know. I feel like it. I feel very much in the Christmas spirit. I can't. Can I tell you something, Shannon? I can't believe how Christmassy I feel right now.

00:09:15 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 2:

I feel so Christmassy. I've got Jack Frost coming out my butthole right now. It's unbelievable.

00:09:20 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

Last week, and I don't know if we talked about this, but a lot of the commercials that we play have the bells or the Christmas music, and all of a sudden it was quiet in the studio. It was just Mojo in the studio, and he's like, I feel so damn happy when I hear these commercials. It just makes me so happy.

00:09:36 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 2:

Something about the Kroger commercial makes me feel good, but I have no idea why.

00:09:39 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 4:

Who are you and what did you do with Mojo?

00:09:41 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

I know.

00:09:42 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 4:

I think a lot of people need it this year. We need to feel that happiness, that hope.

00:09:48 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 2:

Listen, one of the craziest letters that I got was a single mom who said, I would just, all I want for Christmas is if you guys can give me a gift. card to be able to just put money in my gas tank it will give me the ability to use the money that i make to go and like that's all she asked for and i was like oh my god that's okay we got to do something we can do something big for that but just that's all she wanted because she knows that how expensive that has been and then there was one kid one of my favorite wishes that came through a kid who asked if we could find his mommy a man of course i called steve gubara right afterwards I said, Steve, Zod Ford.

00:10:28 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 5:

Take one for the team. That's my future husband.

00:10:30 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 2:

I know. Maggie, that's what he said.

00:10:32 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 5:

You've had many chances. He's my backup retirement plan. Sister-wise.

00:10:36 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 2:

I watched last night. Come on. What's up, D?

00:10:41 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys. How are you? Good morning.

00:10:44 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 2:

Yes, Merry Christmas. Happy holidays. What's going on?

00:10:47 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 4:

So I have this 8-year-old, okay, and he's been begging to go to Jingle Ball. I wasn't able to get tickets for various reasons, but my sister got us two tickets. So I tell her the other day, I said, hey, Maddie, I got us some tickets for Jingle Ball. Her response is, my eight-year-old, backstreet, back, all right. I love it. Are you kidding me? I like it.

00:11:15 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 2:

That is so cool. God.

00:11:17 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 4:

She's super excited.

00:11:19 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome. Are you going to take her or is your sister going to take her?

00:11:23 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to take it because I really want to take it.

00:11:25 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 2:

Wow. By the way, Auntie is like the greatest aunt in the world.

00:11:29 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 4:

You listen. She comes through every time. When I say world's greatest aunt, she is that. She definitely is.

00:11:37 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, we can't wait to see you and your daughter. And what's her name? Madison. Madison. Okay. Madison and Dee, you guys are going to have the time of your lives, and it's a week from tomorrow.

00:11:49 - 00:11:49 | Unknown:

Yes.

00:11:49 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 4:

We're excited. I can't wait to see you guys.

00:11:51 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 2:

And we have tickets, by the way, coming up here in just a second before we get to the dirty on the 30s. So in every hour, and we have a new contest this morning. It's Mojo's Mistledoe. Win cash for the holidays. How would you like to win $100 cash and qualify for $10,000 in mistledoe? Your chance begins this morning at 730. How was Thanksgiving for y'all? Did you guys all have a good Thanksgiving? That was my Southern thing. I get my face off.

00:12:20 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't know about you, but I have to start fasting or dieting or something so we can change my lifestyle.

00:12:27 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 2:

See, I have to tell you, Chelsea and I have come to the conclusion that we are going to go out to eat now from now on on Thanksgiving. It took her so long to cook everything, and it took me and Joe and the boys, because Joe and his girlfriend and stuff, they were on their best behavior. They did dishes, which was unbelievable.

00:12:43 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that was very nice of them.

00:12:44 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

Yes, they were definitely trying to win mom and dad over. But it took longer to do the dishes Longer to cook than it did to eat We ate in like five seconds It felt like And honestly I only had one helping Of Thanksgiving I couldn't believe it

00:13:01 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 5:

You didn't go back for seconds No seconds of stuffing what's wrong with you

00:13:04 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

You know what I ended up having When I put everything away into the refrigerator I ended up putting it all in there And then later that evening I think it was right at the end of like the third game That was on of NFL games I went in and I just got one little scoop of mashed potatoes and I ate those and then the next day I think I had a ham sandwich

00:13:24 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 1:

and that was it. By the end of the night I had this serving bowl of corn and a spoon and I was just eating at it.

00:13:32 - 00:14:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what it was but I think it was one of those things where it's like normally I would eat my face off Spike and I think there was so much pre-stuff that was going on and so much pre-things like of preparing and stuff that made you so busy that you just couldn't, I don't know. And then it was such a busy weekend of things with the Lions playing on Thanksgiving and then that Michigan game was huge. Michigan-Ohio State game was huge. So we had, you know, like I was saying, we had the boys in town. This will not surprise you which son it was, but can you guess which son of mine set the smoke detector off every single morning at the same time, it seemed like?

00:14:13 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 5:

I'm going with your oldest, Joe

00:14:15 - 00:14:16 | Speaker 2:

Yes, you are going with Joe

00:14:16 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 5:

Just a shot in the dark

00:14:17 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 2:

You are absolutely right But, ready for this? Not for the reason that you think that it would be

00:14:22 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he wasn't smoking up

00:14:24 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 2:

He was not smoking up The kid, so he was sleeping in the basement And his girlfriend Alyssa was sleeping in his bedroom upstairs So they were on separate floors They were abiding by mom and dad's rules Well, Joe loved the fact that he could take a shower Not in his bathroom But he took a shower in one of the other bathrooms we have, like a guest bathroom.

00:14:47 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:14:47 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

And he would take such hot showers. Oh, my gosh. That when he opened up the door to the bathroom, it set the fire alarm off every single time that he would.

00:15:00 - 00:15:18 | Speaker 4:

would open up the door so every single i don't know like 11 o'clock or 10 o'clock in the morning our our smoke detector would go off and it would like wake up his older brother or you know his younger brothers that were like all still trying to sleep at 11 o'clock well first of all jealous

00:15:18 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 2:

i know they were sleeping in that used to happen in my apartment all of the time yeah it's like

00:15:24 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 5:

why do they put the smoke alarm right outside the bathroom that's a good shower but it was

00:15:28 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 3:

It's that high and that long.

00:15:30 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 4:

Take a layer of skin off. It was unbelievable. Like, first off, then nobody else had hot water for the rest of the day, which was kind of interesting. So he would use all the hot water. The greatest is that you could tell how much of a gentleman he was. He would come upstairs and he'd go, oh, I'm really sorry about the fact that I set the alarm off. And then his girlfriend would come downstairs and I would say, Alyssa, how was your shower? And she goes, oh, it was cold. and everybody else after that wasn't taking showers till like one o'clock until the hot water heater like reheat up reheated or whatever the word would be warmed up again yeah but um but it was the it was so nice having them all come in everybody came in on wednesday and then everybody left on saturday like in the morning time and at first chelsea and i were really depressed that they, you know, all were going to leave early like that, I cannot tell you how happy we were when they all left. There was something about the peace and quiet. Even Luke said, I kind of like it with just us.

00:16:28 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 3:

It's nice to have a day to recoup and just rest. Did you guys have

00:16:32 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 4:

any visitors? Any of you guys have any visitors over

00:16:35 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 3:

at all? Well, I hosted Thanksgiving this year, and it was stressful because I'm not a great cook to begin with, and I had people bringing things, but I was still cooking a good chunk of the stuff. And Wes helped me, which I was so grateful for because he kind of like saved the day on a lot of things. But it was a big Thanksgiving for me because not only did I have, you know, myself and my two kids, but I had Wes and his two kids. I had my mom and her boyfriend and his daughter. And then I had my sister and my brother-in-law and my two nieces, including my newest niece, who is just a few months old. and she um it's a really really big deal for her i haven't talked much about this her name's navy but it's a big deal for her to leave the house because she was born with some pretty severe special needs and so she's always hooked up to a lot of equipment and so for them to to disconnect her and bring all of the equipment to my house and set her up so she could be with us that day it was really really really cool it was very emotional that's awesome yeah yeah that was It was cool.

00:17:40 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 4:

And did everybody like your food?

00:17:42 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 3:

Everybody liked the food. My brother-in-law asked me three or four different times if my turkey was store-bought and already cooked because he was concerned about food poisoning, which it was. And my mom took rum chata shots all day. So she was great. She was feeling it. Rum chata peppermint bark.

00:17:59 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 4:

Wow. Yes. I've never heard that. That's good.

00:18:01 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 3:

She was real happy and just feeling herself.

00:18:03 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. So your brother-in-law was happy that it was store-bought because he knew that if you made it yourself.

00:18:07 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 3:

He couldn't be poisoned.

00:18:09 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

how smart are you

00:18:12 - 00:18:19 | Speaker 5:

00:18:45 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 2:

It was a very sad day for One Directioners when Zayn left the band after five years.

00:19:29 - 00:19:34 | Speaker 1:

At first, we were a little bit angry. Obviously, we were surprised. But I think we all kind of knew the general vibe that Zayn was feeling.

00:19:34 - 00:19:43 | Speaker 4:

Miley Cyrus got herself into a little trouble When she spoke out against Nicki Minaj And then Nicki Minaj went on stage At the MTV VMAs to say

00:21:10 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 3:

Some more naked photos. This time she's in a bathtub. A little confused because she posted two same photo, just different filter, which she's done in the past. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But the photo shows her leaning back in the tub. She's got up in her boobies. There's a little pink flower emoji. over her Christmas. Now, she captioned the post, I like to suck. Never professional pics. Sucking comes easy for me. Keep clapping beef. And so naturally fans were commenting stuff like, I read the caption three times and I'm still confused. Gotta decode it. I'm gonna, okay, I don't know either, but there you go. You can check out her Instagram if you want to see them. Former President Donald Trump calling Kanye West quote-unquote a seriously troubled man after meeting with him at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. Also joining them, a white nationalist named Nick Fuentes. Both he and Kanye under fire for their recent anti-Jewish remarks. Trump writing in a statement that he was willing to meet with Kanye, only Kanye, and give him some much needed advice per Ye's request. But the meeting turned sour after Kanye announced and doubled down on the fact that he is running for president in 2024.

00:22:20 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 4:

I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about, me asking him to be my vice president, I think that was like lower on the list of things that caught him off guard. It was the fact that I walked in with intelligence.

00:22:34 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the former president turned down that offer and also told Kanye he absolutely should not be running in the first place.

00:22:42 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 4:

When Trump started basically screaming at me at the table telling me I was going to lose, I mean, has that ever worked for anyone in history? You're going to lose. Tell him he's going to lose. I'm like, hold on, hold on. You're talking to Ye.

00:22:57 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 3:

One of my favorites we played back on Friday was Spike's phone scam, where he honored now Hall of Famer Eminem by using nothing but his rap lyrics in a phone scam. I love when you do this. And you've done this with a number of artists, but Eminem's might be one of the better ones.

00:25:49 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 3:

Well, I had to pull it out because I don't know if you got to see yet. It's on HBO streaming right now. So good. Oh, Eminem's performance is stellar, and you just are reminded of the career he had. Well, now I'm going to just completely besmudge that career with my rapping.

00:37:31 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 3:

This family.

How close are you?

00:37:34 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 3:

Very close. I'm in their driveway right now.

I'm just going to have you knock on the door. And then you're going to hand that phone over to Christy, hopefully. Okay. If she's the first that answers.

00:37:51 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm at the door right now.

00:37:53 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 1:

Perfect.

00:37:58 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 3:

00:38:11 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 2:

All right.

00:38:12 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

We put your lovely Renee up to coming and knocking on your door this early in the morning because we received so many letters about your sweet family and especially your sweet daughter, Ellie, for our Mojo in the Morning Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program.

00:38:31 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:38:32 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 1:

00:38:39 - 00:38:39 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:38:39 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 1:

Take a listen.

00:38:41 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 2:

Dear Mojo in the Morning Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish, My name is Amanda Browning, and I am an Allen Park public school teacher. I would like to nominate Elizabeth Ellie Loss for this year's Breaking and Entering Christmas. Ellie Loss is a 16-year-old student that lives in Allen Park, Michigan, with her mom, her dad, and her younger brother, Sam. Earlier this year, Ellie and her family received the news that no family is ready for. Ellie had a brain tumor. Ellie and her family have gone to many different doctor's appointments and have had assistance from doctors all over the country. She had brain surgery in August, a round of infertility treatments to keep her eggs viable for the future, and two rounds of chemotherapy. The family just learned that she is not responding to treatment at this point. This is devastating to her friends, family, and school community. Mojo, Ellie is an incredible kid with many friends and family in the Allen Park community. Before her diagnosis, Ellie was on the Allen Park swing team and Allen Park tennis team.

00:40:00 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 1:

Additionally, even school is a challenge for her at this point due to the weakness from her treatment. Mojo, please, please consider Ellie and her family for a wish this year. They could absolutely use some surprises, positivity, and some Christmas magic in their lives. Sincerely, Amanda Browning.

00:40:24 - 00:40:24 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:40:26 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 4:

Hello. Hi. Hello, hello, Amanda. Thank you for that letter. We appreciate you so much. Chrissy, how are you holding up there, Mom?

00:40:40 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 6:

Well, I'm crying right now.

00:40:41 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 4:

I know you are. Yeah. But you've been so strong, and I know it's been so difficult.

00:40:49 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 6:

It's been challenging, for sure.

00:40:51 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 5:

How's Ellie doing?

00:40:53 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 6:

She's okay. She is a ray of sunshine.

00:40:57 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. We received so many letters about your family and Ellie, and they all said something similar to that, that she's a ray of light. She's a ray of sunshine. She's so positive. She's so wonderful. So I feel like we know a lot about her. She's a pretty amazing young woman. She's a very subtle girl.

00:41:16 - 00:41:30 | Speaker 4:

And I hope that the whole family is going to be okay with this, but we call it breaking and entering Christmas wish because we literally want to break into your house and bring Christmas to your home this year. Okay. And we want to do it right now.

00:41:32 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 5:

Are you ready for us? This morning. I'm sorry to say that.

00:41:38 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 4:

Hey, listen, we can arrange for that.

00:41:40 - 00:41:43 | Speaker 2:

Don't worry about that. That's the least of what we're going to do.

00:41:44 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 4:

Mike from our show is walking up your front drive right now along with a whole bunch of people that are going to be carrying sacks upon sacks of Christmas gifts for you and for your entire family. And is everybody there right now?

00:42:02 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh my gosh. Merry Christmas! Can I hang up the phone? No, no.

00:42:11 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 4:

You stay on this phone here, okay? You stay on this phone and Mike will stay on the phone with us too. And we're going to grant a Christmas wish this morning.

And you didn't let that get you down because you saw what your sister was going through, and you didn't want that to be anything that made Ellie not feel great. So you kind of just did your rehab and tried to make sure that you're okay. So we want to do something cool for you and your dad. We're sending you guys with some great tickets to go see the Detroit Lions play.

00:45:24 - 00:45:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, cool. Super cool.

00:45:26 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 3:

And we understand, Sam, that – what's your uniform number, Sam?

00:45:31 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 2:

Nine.

00:45:31 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 3:

Nine. And what was Ray's uniform number, Christy?

00:45:35 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Or zero.

00:45:36 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. What was Ray's uniform number when he played ball back in the day?

00:45:41 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 2:

I played hockey. I was four.

00:45:44 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 3:

You were four? We got you guys – Yeah, zero. We got you guys personal Lions jerseys with your uniform numbers on them. Oh, okay. so that you, Ray, and Sam can go to the game while Christy and Ellie are going to see Hamilton.

00:46:00 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, very cool. Thank you.

00:46:02 - 00:46:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's one of the big things we talked about when we were reading your letters that were coming in about your family and realizing you had the family fighting this together, and if there was time together as a family, it was usually in waiting rooms and doctor's offices, and you just get robbed of time together to really just enjoy a night out. So that's why we got Hamilton, and that's why we got Lions tickets. And that's why we're also going to send you, Christy, with your husband out on a date night, make sure you guys get a little quality time. And then the whole family, we got a trip to Great Wolf Lodge. We are sending you on a date of your choosing to make sure you guys can escape for a little bit.

00:46:43 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. That is so over the top. Thank you.

00:46:47 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 3:

No, we're going even more over the top with this one. Yeah, you think we're done? We're going even more over the top. By the way, you thought that Oprah had something? We're like Detroit's Oprah here, okay? We have other gifts for you guys that we're going to give you, including, you know, Ray. We want to make sure that we set you up with some cool things so that, you know, you get some clothes for the holidays and Christy, you too. But we want to make sure that Ellie has everything that she needs to keep her entertained and keep her happy. Like Shannon was saying, all the Apple stuff that you'll ever need. Sam, we understand that you need a laptop for school. So our friends at Comcast are giving you a brand new laptop, always keeping you connected and making sure that everybody is able to be connected. Comcast is going to give you that. And we also want to write you guys a check, the family a check for $1,000 to help cover any bills that come your way.

00:47:42 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Well, thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you, Amanda, for that lovely letter.

00:47:48 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that beautiful?

00:47:49 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 2:

Yes, thank you.

00:47:51 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 3:

Ellie, we love you.

00:47:53 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. You have a lot of people who love you. This is a lot of people who love you. Yeah. They kept it from me.

00:48:00 - 00:48:01 | Speaker 3:

You're such a...

00:48:01 - 00:48:04 | Speaker 2:

It's the biggest word ever of all.

00:48:05 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 3:

Ellie, your classmates and teammates all talk about the strength that you have given them, seeing you fight, and they want you to continue to fight on, and they want you to know that they love you so much and they miss you so much and they are just hugging you right now from the radio to your home right now.

00:48:25 - 00:48:25 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy.

00:48:28 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 3:

Merry Christmas. Can everybody in Allen Park, Mike, make a little bit of noise for us today and this beautiful family?

00:48:33 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, guys. Are you ready? As long as you can, I want the whole neighborhood to hear say Merry Christmas, Ellie. Ready? One, two, three.

00:48:43 - 00:48:59 | Speaker 3:

Ray and Christy, you guys have such a beautiful family, and it all starts with you, too.

00:48:59 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, we are very lucky and very blessed to have this support in our family around us.

00:49:05 - 00:49:05 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:49:06 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 2:

00:50:00 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 2:

104.5 SNX and 92.5 KISS FM. So last week I had to go to a funeral, unfortunately. And I started laughing not because I had to go to a funeral, but because I had to go to a funeral with my friend Jeff Zaqua. Do you know Jeff, obviously? Class clown. Well, then you can picture this one. So Jeff is a guy that I've known for a long time. He's an awesome human being, and I love him to death. And he and I are, you know, when we're together, I feel like, I don't know, I feel like it's Larry David and his friend Jeff from Curb Your Enthusiasm. That is so spot on. He's Larry David, I'm Jeff. So he says to me, he goes, hey, I'm going to come and I'm going to pick you up and then we'll go to Milford where the wake was for our friend Tim Lillard. His beautiful wife passed away and is so sad. He's been a longtime police officer, a friend of ours for a long time. And so I'm waiting for Jeff to come to the house to grab me. And he comes a little bit late, but he's got this smile on his face laughing. Jeff went to the wrong house. He actually went to my neighbor's house right next door. Yeah, isn't that funny? He's been to my house numerous times. Matter of fact, Jeff helped me find my house.

00:51:19 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 1:

Knowing him, he was probably on his phone at the time Because he's always talking to three people at once

00:51:26 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, here's the funniest part He walked up to my neighbor's front door Rang the doorbell And when my neighbor Arvin came to the door He said, is Thomas the Tank Engine here? For those that don't know, my real name is Tom And Arvin looked at him like, huh? And he goes, Thomas the Tank Engine Where's Thomas the Tank Engine at?

00:51:45 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 1:

They're like, oh, there's a crazy man in our neighborhood

00:51:47 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 2:

He tried to step into the house and walk into the house. And Arvind's kind of like, no, there's no Thomas the Tank engines here. I haven't had a Thomas the Tank engine since my kids were, like, really little. Jeff went to the wrong house. Has that ever happened to any of our listeners? Now, Jeff was completely sober. This was just Jeff. That's just the Jeff thing. But has that ever happened to any of our listeners when maybe you weren't so sober? Have you ever gone to the wrong house or gone into the wrong apartment or whatever? My poor neighbor. First off, my neighbor's great.

00:52:16 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 3:

is their great family great name by the way for this story arvin arvin yes arvin and jeff and

00:52:24 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 2:

thomas the tank and then and then jeff drives like jeff drives like a little car like he has like it's a nice car it's like a sports car and stuff and you should see me trying to get into this damn thing like i drive like tahoe a big chevy tahoe it was like me trying to get first I feel like you're riding on the floor because the thing is so low to the ground. And so I have to get into his car, and he goes, are you okay in there? And he goes, like, yes. I felt like a NASCAR driver climbing through the window.

00:52:59 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 3:

When you get out, do you have to do the rock?

00:53:02 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

00:53:02 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 3:

The rock to get out of the seat, then you know it's bad.

00:53:06 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 2:

Thomas is truly a tank engine when he's trying to get through on this thing. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Julie, what's happening here? Let's grab her first to kick this off. Julie, hi.

00:53:23 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 3:

Hi, hold on. I got to take you off Bluetooth. Thank you.

00:53:25 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay, no worries. I want to know, who was it that went into the wrong house, Julie?

00:53:32 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 3:

It was me. I went into my sister's house. So I went to go into my sister's house, and I walked into the garage, and I knocked on the door like I usually do. I walk in the house. These little dogs come up to me I'm like, hi, hi little doggies How are you? My sister's always got friends over And I'm walking in and I'm like, hi Donna You home, Donna?

00:53:56 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh no, we lost you We didn't get to hear how it ends Again, how is it that you don't know That that's not your sister's house? I guess you're caught up in a moment or something

00:54:05 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, if there's doggies, I'm looking at the doggies What's up, Andrew? Yeah, I just wanted to make a comment about One time I was up on Mackinac Island And I was getting breakfast for the family And on my way back I opened up the hotel door And I seen like five kids who were not mine On the floor With their dad looking at me And I was like, oh, this is not the room I'm sorry

00:54:28 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 2:

Hey BJ, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning Is it BJ on this line? Hi BJ

00:54:36 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 1:

CJ, I apologize

00:54:38 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 2:

What's up, buddy? How you doing? Did you walk into the wrong house? Yes, I did. What happened? What were you doing?

00:54:47 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 1:

So I work at Ann Arbor University townhouses. I'm a maintenance guy, and I'm working on this lady's sink. And next thing I know is I have to go out to my truck. And I got to go.

00:55:00 - 00:55:14 | Speaker 6:

I've got to get some tools. I've got to grab some parts. The next thing I know is I'm going back to the house, and I'm grabbing some tools. The next thing I know is I walk in the house. It's the wrong house.

00:55:14 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. My God.

00:55:17 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, that would have been my dream come true. I would have given you a list of stuff to fix. I have things to fix next door.

00:55:22 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 7:

I'm so sorry.

00:55:25 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 9:

While you're here, can you fix this?

00:55:26 - 00:55:37 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to make sure things okay. The only thing I know is I'm walking outside. I walk into the next neighbors, and they're like, what's going on? Where were you?

00:55:38 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 4:

You know what? The problem is all those places look the same. That's the problem. What's up, Sully?

00:55:43 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's happening, guys?

00:55:45 - 00:55:45 | Speaker 4:

How you doing?

00:55:46 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 5:

Not too bad. Happy Monday.

00:55:47 - 00:55:49 | Speaker 4:

Happy Monday to you, man. You walked into the wrong house?

00:55:50 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, not all the way in, but we went to the wrong house. It was about two years ago during the pandemic. I dressed up as Easter Bunny, And we drove around and passed out baskets To my little cousins And we went to my uncle's neighborhood And I knocked on the wrong house They came out freaking out It was all backed out in Ohio State So we thought it was this house We looked to our right And he's down there dying laughing on his porch About a quarter mile down Just rolling on the ground dying laughing

00:56:18 - 00:56:23 | Speaker 4:

What do you do though if you're sitting in your living room And you have no expectations That an Easter bunny is going to be

00:56:23 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 1:

I'd be terrified

00:56:24 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 4:

What's going on Elena? yes hi how are you hi this is actually pretty funny elena walked into the wrong house

00:56:33 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 2:

going to a pure romance party no yes so i had two of my friends with me we all had bottles of wine and we were going to a friend's house who we've been to many times and i was driving and i pulled into the driveway and thought that was the right house i went three houses in yeah walked up inside a guy answered the door didn't recognize him but i thought Eh, maybe somebody's here, that's kind of strange He had kids in his house And I kind of barged my way into the house And he just kept looking at us Like, what are you doing in my country? This isn't it, this isn't it And they were backing up off the porch And I was still thinking, oh, there's just some random people here

00:57:11 - 00:57:14 | Speaker 9:

Well, yeah, he's not going to stop a bunch of women With wine and toys in their hands

mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30 shannon's got the dirty on the 30 for us it's good to be

00:59:43 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 1:

back good morning shannon good morning so there is this designer fashion brand called balenciaga you may have heard of it maybe not regardless it's in the dirty and you're gonna hear and see about it in the news because of a pretty disgusting campaign they debuted recently We'll be right back.

01:00:00 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 3:

It features children posing with BDSM-themed accessories and dressed in what looks to me like bondage gear. They're carrying little fluffy teddy bears. Now, it has been taken down from all of the brand accounts. You still might see some of the images going around as a story.

01:00:15 - 01:00:18 | Speaker 2:

How does it get past layers and layers of board meetings?

01:00:18 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, what about the documents on the table, which were lawsuits involving child pornography?

01:00:24 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like the whole thing was just gross. Lots of people were outraged and lots of people were waiting for Kim Kardashian, who is a Balenciaga brand ambassador, to say something about this. She was quiet. She finally did. She wrote on her social media, I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened. As a mother of four, I've been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard, and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society, period. She went on to say that she appreciated Balenciaga's removal of the campaign and apology and believes that the brand understands how serious this is and will ensure it never happens again. She also noted that she is re-evaluating her relationship with the brand. And she's just getting torched for that because people are writing on social media, re-evaluating your relationship. It should be done.

01:01:30 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 2:

That sounds like you're just waiting to see if it blows over.

01:01:32 - 01:02:06 | Speaker 3:

One person tweeted, delete that again and come back with the right statement. One that says, I am cutting ties with Balenciaga due to their disturbing images. I did see over the weekend that L.A. Rams receiver Cooper Cup released a statement on his social media about this, encouraging people to just be very aware of the attack on our children by brands like Balenciaga. He also wants them to be held responsible for it. He wrote, for those of us in positions to create change in the way that companies manipulate people and advertise evil, please stand up.

01:02:07 - 01:02:16 | Speaker 4:

Also, are her spending a few days to talk to the brand? Yeah, spending a few days for your PR team to cultivate a post? Yeah, come on.

01:02:16 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. Come on. Odell Beckham Jr. kicked off of a plane in Miami that was bound for L.A. yesterday after police were called on a medical emergency. He was reportedly drifting in and out of consciousness. Now, there's so much more to this story. The flight was scheduled to take off at 9.30 yesterday morning from Miami, again, heading to the West Coast. It was delayed for nearly an hour and a half before departing. And passengers were forced off the plane after Odell Beckham Jr. refused to leave at the request of police. Now, you can imagine people weren't happy. It's a busy travel weekend. Everybody just wants to get home. His attorney saying that Odell fell asleep in his seat with his blanket over his head on the plane. OK, he was then told that he needed to get off of the plane because he had not buckled his seatbelt. The attorney, again, this is Odell's attorney, said he offered to put his belt on, but he was informed that it was too late and that he would either have to get off the plane or everybody would have to deplane. His attorney said Odell was not disruptive or combative. He was willing to comply with the flight attendant. But the flight attendant wanted to prove that he had the authority to have Odell Beckham Jr. removed from the flight.

01:03:28 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 1:

I heard another passenger come out and speak this morning saying that they thought that the flight attendant was overzealous. They said something in the fact that didn't like really go to him and say, put your seatbelt on. Because they were verbally telling you to put your seatbelt on. The guy was sleeping underneath the thing. Which, honestly, I've fallen asleep on airplanes before, and I am out.

01:03:48 - 01:03:51 | Speaker 3:

Same. Before I even take off, I'm usually asleep.

01:03:51 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 1:

And I don't know. I mean, Odell Beckham is not Antonio Brown. You know what I mean? He's not like the guy that normally you hear people say a ton. I don't know. It's weird. This is definitely a he said, and it'll be interesting to see what American Airlines does on this thing. But I'm sure some people had to have video of this going on. That's what I've been waiting to see.

01:04:11 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 3:

I saw a video of him in the gate area, but I haven't seen anything from the plane yet, so we'll see.

01:04:17 - 01:04:25 | Speaker 1:

And he's, by the way, one of the more sought-after free agents right now because a lot of teams that are vying for a run in the playoffs want Odell Beckham to be on their team.

01:04:26 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 3:

Lions fans not feeling Bibi Rexha during halftime of the Thanksgiving game after the Lions and the Bills went to their locker rooms, their respective locker rooms, for the mid-game break. B.B. Raksa took the stage, a teeny, teeny, teeny, tiny stage in a teeny, tiny corner of Ford Field. Not many people could even see her, really. It's hard to hear. I mean, what's the point? But people were booing her, and it wasn't because... didn't like her performance it was because they couldn't actually see her performance so people

01:05:05 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

were like what i know they do it for tv but it's like there are fans in there that looked great

01:05:10 - 01:05:15 | Speaker 3:

on tv but wasn't nick jonas on the field for his halftime show the same day that was the

01:05:15 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 2:

the whole jonas brothers were on in dallas yeah so for some reason the lions did this with uh big sean too they put you in the corner and they don't put you on this field and i don't understand why they do it and i don't know if it's the team or if the nfl is telling them that they have to do it it that way to keep the game going. But it does, for if you're a fan at the game, you're like, this is crap. I can't see it. By the way, happy Albanian Independence Day to all of our Albanian listeners. Bibi Rexha, one of the famed Albanians, and they're celebrating Albanian Independence Day

01:05:47 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 3:

today. Maybe I shouldn't have crapped on Kim Kardashian at the beginning there. Wait, she's not Albanian. Isn't she Armenian? Oh my god, you're right! Oh, I'm so

01:05:55 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 2:

dumb. The Albanians will not play.

01:05:57 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Albanians will not play. Okay, I'm with you, girl.

01:06:01 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 2:

Albanians will not claim Kim Kardashian or any of the Kardashians.

01:06:06 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 3:

Lastly, somebody else who's getting called out, Mariah Carey. So she did the- Did you see this? She was part of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. What happened? Did this song. So people who were at the- This was all over TikTok, which I thought was so funny. People who were at the parade noticed this giant screen, okay? Out of view from the cameras, if you were watching on TV, but if you were there, you saw, it was directly in Mariah's line of sight, and it had the lyrics to the song on it. So people were like, really? You don't know the words? Haven't you done this song ten bajillion times? But she doesn't sing it, you guys. Right.

01:06:40 - 01:06:41 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:06:41 - 01:07:04 | Speaker 3:

The videos of her, like, looking at the screen have millions of views on TikTok. I mean, she's already accused of lip-syncing at the parade, which a lot of them do. I mean, it's not really a secret, but it was just kind of funny. So, yeah. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on the Dirty Morning.com. I still love the song. Me too.

01:07:04 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:07:08 - 01:07:12 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever watched Love Actually?

01:07:12 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. This is what ends the movie. I've never seen that movie.

01:07:15 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. It's one of my favorites.

01:07:16 - 01:07:20 | Speaker 2:

And I think this is the 20th anniversary, I think they said, or 25th anniversary.

01:07:20 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 3:

I tried to get Wes to watch it yesterday. He couldn't even get past the first 10 minutes. I'm so disappointed. I know what happened. I might break up with him. It's culturally relevant. I get it, but I've never seen it.

01:07:29 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 2:

Wes better be holding the cue cards out in front of the house for you. The best scene. Let's go. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scan is next. All right. Giving away some Mojo in the Morning mistletoe and Jingle Ball tickets. Kim? Yes. Where are you from, Kim?

01:07:54 - 01:07:55 | Speaker 1:

I am from Novi.

01:07:55 - 01:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, nice. Not that far from our studios here in Farmington Hills. You're a winner. Congratulations. You got $100 missile dough and are qualified for $10,000. It's all brought to you by the Ideal U Health Center. If you want to lose 20, 30, even 40 pounds, by the new year this could happen. All you got to do is go and schedule your appointment at idealu.us. And you're now going to Jingle Ball. Congratulations to you. Oh, I don't know why that laughter. I hit the wrong button. There's nothing funny about Jingle Ball. It's going to actually be fun, but nothing funny. You got tickets. Congratulations.

01:08:29 - 01:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much. I'm so excited.

01:08:31 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 2:

We are so excited for you. Hang on the phone, okay?

01:08:34 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Awesome. Thank you.

01:08:35 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 2:

We'll get you set up. Mojo on the morning show. So before the dirty, we were talking about walking into the wrong house, telling the story about my friend that went to my neighbor's house, thinking it was my house, and had kind of an embarrassing moment. What's going on? Let me grab a couple last calls. Renee, are you there?

01:08:54 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 1:

I'm here.

01:08:55 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Renee. Renee.

01:08:57 - 01:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:08:57 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Your walk into the wrong house was very embarrassing. What happened?

01:09:02 - 01:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so we were just talking about this yesterday, sharing. So a few years ago, my boyfriend and I were sitting around our house. We had a living room full of our family. We're all opening up gifts, watching each other, having a good time, laughing. and all of a sudden I look up and I see this strange man standing between the dining area and the living room just watching us laughing and he's just watching us and I am like who is this man and I tap my boyfriend's leg like to get his attention like do you see this guy and he looks up at the same time everyone notices the guy and we're all staring at him and he just looks at us And he says, I think I'm in the wrong house.

01:09:52 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 2:

Was he, like, meant to go to a neighbor's house or something?

01:09:55 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So we were in, like, a newer neighborhood. Yeah. And there were three.

01:10:00 - 01:10:18 | Speaker 3:

houses our house and our neighbor's house they're they're similar gray different shades of gray he had never been over to his son's house and it was his first time oh no poor old guy oh yeah no we had never even met our neighbor so it was funny to talk about the next spring and when we met him

01:10:18 - 01:10:30 | Speaker 2:

and oh that's great i love how he was so kind to just sit back and watch you guys open it up but not say, excuse me, is so-and-so here? He let you guys finish your nice moment

01:10:30 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 3:

with each other. Yeah, it was

01:10:32 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 2:

funny. That's crazy. That had to, by the way, make you almost poop your pants.

01:10:37 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, pretty

01:10:38 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 2:

much. I would all of a sudden, you see a strange person

01:10:40 - 01:10:44 | Speaker 1:

there. And it gives that family a story to tell every year at this holiday time.

01:10:44 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 2:

What's happening, Lauren?

01:10:46 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hi. Good morning. Good morning.

01:10:48 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 2:

You didn't walk into the wrong house. What did you walk into?

01:10:52 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 5:

Mine was a lot more public. I walked into the

01:10:54 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 2:

wrong car oh gosh oh yeah oh no and were there were there people like watching you do this

01:11:00 - 01:11:34 | Speaker 5:

yeah oh yeah it was very public i just got my new car and we went out to eat so i'm always like the last one out of the restaurant getting all the food and making sure the coats are there and i'm talking and walking and i open the door and i sit down and i look over my family is two cars down in my car i was too careful and everyone's looking at me as i do the walk of shame to my car with everything i had unloaded in the whole entire brighton area oh my god yeah it was

01:11:34 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 2:

mortifying and my family loves italic gathering okay great uh whitney hi hi hey what's happening we're talking about mistakenly walking into the wrong home or car okay yes so my boyfriend and i

01:11:50 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 4:

were invited to like a beginning of the summer party with all of our bike friends we mountain bike and so we had took our bikes with us and we found the address and we pulled up and we see a house with a whole bunch of cars with bike racks and people partying all over the place and we only knew the owners of the house right so we we walk up and we introduced we like say hi guys how are you people were playing ping pong in the garage we parked our bikes and like talked to some people and we go to walk into the house and they were like who are you guys here with and we said todd and laurie and they were like this is not todd and laurie's house we were like oh my god i'm so sorry here there was like a tiny little like pathway through the woods to get to the people's house we were going to so we were like oh my gosh i'm so sorry we were almost in the house with this entire family party. So we grabbed the bike and walked through the thing, and once we get to the house we were supposed to be at, we could barely tell the story because it was so hysterical.

01:12:46 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 2:

What's the story with everybody with bikes there in that neighborhood? It must be a very active neighborhood.

01:12:50 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 4:

They must just also ride bikes over there, but we need to move there.

01:12:54 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's funny. By the way, the worst is when you do go into the wrong house, like if you don't necessarily know if it's the right house. The worst is you ever notice that you don't just walk in, you tiptoe.

01:13:05 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 6:

That's so true. And you're like, I just want to recognize one person.

01:13:09 - 01:13:09 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:13:09 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 2:

But when you tiptoe, you think that you're for some reason sly as people are looking in.

01:13:14 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 6:

Like you're going to be invisible until you recognize somebody. And then all of a sudden you're visible and you're cool. Yeah. And you're good.

01:13:19 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 2:

It's embarrassing. And in my case, my wife makes me go first. Like, okay, you go first and see if this is their house. And then she stands out on the porch and kind of waits for everything to happen. Breaking and entering Christmas wish here. We just granted a Christmas wish just a few moments ago. A 16-year-old Ellie who is battling cancer in Allen Park, Michigan. She's a superstar from Allen Park High School. The entire community came together for her. The Facebook Live is on our Facebook right now, and you've got to watch it.

01:13:53 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:13:53 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 2:

You get to see all the behind the scenes of what's going on and our surprise.

01:13:56 - 01:13:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and I get to see Ellie standing there as she's surprised. It's really, really cool.

01:13:59 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

And I've got to, again, thank some people for breaking and entering Christmas wish. With this wish, I mean, we went, like, above and beyond. Lydia is just awesome with the stuff that we did. But thank you to everybody that made a donation to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish, like the Imagine Theaters, Red Robin, Clean View, Auto Wash, because we were able to provide for Ellie a cool experience so that she and her mom can go see Hamilton, and then her brother and her dad can go see a Lions game, and Kroger provided a ton of groceries. Comcast and our friends over at Xfinity, They are giving a computer to the family so that the family can actually get that digital divide over what they talk about in their commercials where they want to make sure everybody has the ability to be able to have good Wi-Fi and good computers to stay connected. So thank you to those guys for that. Go to mojoswish.org, and we will grant more Christmas wishes coming up. So this week starts our breaking and entering Christmas wishes. Send us your letters, mojoswish.org, and you can send us.

01:15:00 - 01:15:13 | Speaker 1:

those letters into us got a lot of stuff that i want to get to coming up here next on the the show did shannon poop the bed that's that's on the way it's a monday you know the poop story's got

01:15:13 - 01:15:19 | Speaker 3:

to come in yeah right it wouldn't be a monday without one uh we we honestly spit the bed pretty

01:15:19 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 1:

much every single morning just doing this radio show it is time now for a phone scam on mojo in the morning tim is a diehard lions fan he has been a season ticket holder for 16 years how do you think he'll react if spike revokes his season tickets it's a mojo in the morning phone scam

01:15:34 - 01:15:39 | Speaker 3:

you're home with the phone scams hi baby can i ask you a question

01:15:39 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 1:

this is mojo in the morning

01:15:43 - 01:16:18 | Speaker 3:

No, that wasn't me. issue it's your word against 12 other patrons so i mean who would you believe in this situation

01:16:18 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 2:

uh well i don't know where you're getting your information from but i can tell you from my side i was at the game i wasn't drinking and left at half time with my uh wife to go home and um i just i don't really understand what uh what uh what this is about i mean certainly

01:16:35 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 3:

security didn't come to me at all and um but sir we had to act on complaints such as this i mean would anybody else have been sitting in your seats?

01:16:42 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but I say we left at halftime, so maybe somebody else came and sat in my seats later on when they were causing trouble. I guess that's possible, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

01:16:52 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, just between us girls here, you used your tickets, you didn't sell them to somebody else?

01:16:58 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 2:

The past two home games, I sat in my seat, absolutely.

01:17:02 - 01:17:08 | Speaker 3:

Then that would be you, the season ticket holder. I mean, 12 people are saying that this is a repeat problem, that the last couple weeks.

01:17:08 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to tell you, but, you know, there's people talking at the game, they're fighting, I don't know, like, maybe they're intoxicated, maybe they've got something going on.

01:17:16 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Right, but we're talking about your seats. Like, you have to be responsible for who's sitting in your seat.

01:17:20 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 2:

So, what's the point of this phone call? Get your point.

01:17:24 - 01:17:26 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry to say this, but we have to revoke your season tickets.

01:17:29 - 01:17:29 | Unknown:

What?

01:17:29 - 01:17:33 | Speaker 3:

We have reports of cursing and spilling beer, you know, shouting obscenities.

01:17:34 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 2:

Look, I understand you're doing your job. You're the guy who has to make these calls, but this isn't right.

01:17:38 - 01:17:57 | Speaker 3:

Tim, we have 8,000 people on a waiting list for when season tickets open up, and I don't know how long we're supposed to ignore complaints from your section about your seats. I'm afraid we have to revoke your tickets and refund the difference. Yeah, okay. Well, you're not taking my tickets, all right? Can I ask you a question? How big's your TV? Excuse me? How big's your TV at home? Like, do you like watching Lions games on it?

01:17:58 - 01:18:00 | Unknown:

Dude, this is absolute bull****. Let me talk to your boss.

01:18:01 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 3:

See? There's the foul language that the other fans have complained about. I mean, am I supposed to pretend I didn't hear that just now? We don't have room for jerks and idiots to ruin the game for others, you know? I mean, we know that Ford Field isn't a giant cuddle puddle.

01:18:13 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 2:

All right, man, look, I just don't understand what's going on here. This doesn't make any sense to me.

01:18:16 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 3:

People get excited, people get mad, but you can't splash people with beer and use foul language.

01:18:22 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 2:

I'm telling you for the last time, you have the wrong guy. It wasn't me in the stands.

01:18:26 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 3:

Another quick question. Are you balding?

01:18:29 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Am I what?

01:18:30 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 3:

Are you balding? No. I see that was a trick question because our security girl, Propecia, described you not as balding, but she said you had dark curly hair, so it sounds to me like that was you.

01:18:41 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 2:

Do you know how many people have dark curly hair at the stadium? It could have been any. I don't have time for this kind of ****. I have to go to work now. Yeah, but do you know how many of those curly hair people

01:18:51 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 3:

are calling a 12-year-old **** bat just for wearing the other team's jersey? Did you call the girl next to you an unmuzzled, sheep-biting foot licker? A what? Did you call the security guard a common flap dragon toad, whore, b****, b****, b****?

01:19:05 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 2:

I think we're done with this phone call, and if you revoke my tickets, there will be a lawsuit.

01:19:10 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 3:

All right, then I'll end with this. I'll just let you know that this is Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show, and you've just been the part of a Mojo on the Morning phone scam.

01:19:17 - 01:19:18 | Unknown:

You guys are d****.

01:19:20 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good news, you can keep your Lions tickets. It's just the Mojo on the Morning Show.

01:19:24 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 2:

You don't mess with a man's Lions tickets. Wow.

01:19:29 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. You're home with the phone scams. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:19:39 - 01:19:44 | Unknown:

What's that? Make some noise.

01:19:46 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. It's always a good Come back from the weekend When you can find out If somebody that we know And love from our show Pooped a bed

01:21:54 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 3:

Do you love me?

01:21:57 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 1:

Honestly I would love you less If I knew that you pooped the bed Not that I haven't had poop situations Which by the way We have all I believe on the show Have all admitted That we at one time or another Have pooped ourselves

01:22:10 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 2:

I've never admitted it Well you just did Two people walking this earth There's people that have pooped the bed And people that are lying and saying they've never pooped the bed

01:22:19 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 3:

Well over the weekend I took my five year old Smith For a little mom son date night And he has been so excited about this Since I told him that we were doing it a couple of weeks ago And so we just hung out in downtown Detroit Which by the way There is so much fun free stuff to do Down there The Monroe Street Midway being one of them just like a big outdoor winter carnival. Anyway, so we did that and we walked around and we saw the tree and we watched the ice skaters and then we had a little sleepover down there as well. Well, my mom- Just the two of you guys. Just the two of us. Yep, a little quality mommy-son time. Okay. My mom for Thanksgiving had made these chocolate chip cookies, okay? And it's her special recipe, the secret ingredient, I'll tell you, it's vanilla pudding. Makes them very fluffy. And the chocolate creamier. so i know i know i know it's big i love cookies you sounded for a second there like like that stone guy i'll bring some in for you you'll have that same reaction so i i threw a bunch of them in a ziploc bag and put them in my my duffel bag to bring with us just thinking like oh okay you know when we're in bed at night watching a movie or whatever which we did end up doing we watched home alone we'll have a little snack so i'm a pretty messy eater smith's a pretty messy eater so we are like chowing down on these cookies and we have chocolate all over and again it's all over

01:23:50 - 01:23:57 | Speaker 1:

my pajamas cookies with the secret recipe yes vanilla pudding okay you're gonna remember this

01:23:57 - 01:24:25 | Speaker 3:

you're gonna remember this okay so i fall asleep smith falls asleep and in the morning we wake up we're getting ready to check out and i always like to tidy up the room so it doesn't look like i'm Are you really that person? Oh my God, yes. No way. I like half make the bed. I clean up the room. I throw away all the garbage. You are a dream for hotel people. Make sure there's no hair in the sink. You know, I just don't want to be labeled a slab. Because they do write notes on your accounts, by the way, at certain hotel chains. Oh, okay. If you didn't know this. I have a lot of friends that work in hospitality. They do. They keep track.

01:24:26 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 2:

They got a long list for me. Okay.

01:24:27 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 3:

So as I go to like throw the comforter over the sheets of the bed, I see that it looks like there are poop smears all over the sheets but like legit like it really doesn't look like it was chocolate it looks like someone pooped the bed and i'm like great because i did meet a lot of listeners who worked there i'm like i'm gonna get labeled as the radio girl who pooped the bed when she stayed it's gonna be in your notes on your file It's good.

01:25:00 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be in the notes, beware, she poops. Now I'm paranoid about this.

01:25:07 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 1:

So you want to go on record.

01:25:09 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 2:

I did not poop the bed. It was chocolate chips from the very delicious chocolate chip cookies. Sounds like exactly what someone would say when they pooped the bed. With the secret ingredient of vanilla pudding. What kind of pudding was it? Vanilla. Was it pudding in your pan? Vanilla pudding.

01:25:24 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 1:

Vanilla pudding in your pan.

01:25:24 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:25:25 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

Vanilla pudding in my pan.

01:25:26 - 01:25:31 | Speaker 2:

No, but honestly, I should have taken a picture of it, Because it was like, it was, it was a disaster.

01:25:32 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 1:

So, you know, what's funny is one of my favorite topics that we can ever do on our show, and we did it so long ago, was when we asked the people who work in hotels, like maids or, you know, cleaning people, what did they find in the room? Like, what was the thing? The person from this room is going to call us up and say, Shannon from Mojo in the morning. There's a radio person. Actually, they already called our competitive station right now. Hello, Dave and Chuck the Freak. Hi, I just wanted to let you know that Shannon from the Mojo in the Morning Show pooped the bed this weekend. Oh, my God. That's funny. So it wasn't poop. It was just cookies.

01:26:13 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 2:

It was chocolate chips.

01:26:14 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

It was just cookies.

01:26:15 - 01:26:16 | Speaker 2:

Or chocolate chunks.

01:26:16 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 1:

By the way, if you are a maid at a hotel or if you've ever been a maid at a hotel, So you've got to call us up and tell us the crazy crap that you guys find in the room. Crap literally, get it? Matt, what's going on? Matt, do you believe that it really was the secret cookies or the special cookies? Or do you believe that Shannon might have had a duty problem?

01:26:41 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she had a duty.

01:26:44 - 01:26:45 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, buddy? What are you calling for?

01:26:46 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 3:

Well, I heard poop and I had to call. Oh, good, good. Well, I had a story I was at work And my stomach wasn't feeling the greatest And I went to go let out a fart And it ended up being a shark Oh, no

01:27:01 - 01:27:06 | Speaker 1:

At work Wait, was this in front of, like, co-workers And a whole bunch of people?

01:27:06 - 01:27:20 | Speaker 3:

There was a co-worker there He did not notice I walked away I looked at him I go, oh, I got a family emergency I gotta go Then I had to call my father-in-law Who's my boss And drive an hour home from work With a shark

01:27:20 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 1:

By the way there is nothing worse Than when you lose that little Bet that you have That little run in that you have That's like the worst feeling in the world When that happens to you

01:27:32 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh yeah I got some shark stories

01:27:34 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 1:

I bet you What's up Sue

01:27:38 - 01:28:33 | Speaker 5:

Hi Mojo Hi I've got a disaster story to tell you This happened back um probably like six months ago my me and my boyfriend were visiting his son and we drove separately and i we drove home at the same time i said well i gotta stop at kroger and pick up a few things so he said okay i'm leaving a few minutes behind you and so i'm in line at kroger i'm just like oh my stomach feels funny but i'm only five minutes away from home okay i can do it And I literally, like, walked out in the parking lot, pulled out to the stoplight right by Kroger, and I'm like, oh, my God, oh, my God, I can't make it. Oh, no. So I pull into the speedway, which is right on the corner, and I'm pulling in. I'm like, oh, my God, I can't make it. I can't make it. And then right there and then in my car. Oh, no. Somebody made a stinking.

01:28:33 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. That's the worst. The worst is when you're trying to go to the gas station to go get it done, and then they tell you that their restroom's out of order.

01:28:44 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 6:

Right. Right? So I'm driving home, and my boyfriend passes me, and he calls me. He's like, hey, how are you doing? I'm like, oh, my God, you've got to go home, lock the dogs up, because I get run in the house.

01:28:55 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 1:

Why do you need to lock the dogs up? Why do the dogs need to go home?

01:28:58 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 6:

Because they're going to jump all over me. Oh, my God. Oh, jeez. i'm sure they were gonna be like what the hell yeah right you you told us we couldn't do that

01:29:10 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 1:

in the house do you do you remember what you ate do you remember what it was um it was just

01:29:15 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 5:

regular food and it just hit you wrong i agree with you it goes from zero to nothing and like

01:29:20 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 2:

just the worst by the way the guy behind the glass at the speedway they know they can tell by your face and the dance you're doing they could just say oh yeah it's out of order our restroom's not working because they know when they got one of those customers the convenience

01:29:35 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 1:

stores speedway um let me go to uh amanda are you there yeah i'm here hey amanda you're calling up

01:29:43 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

with the mess in the hotel room story oh yeah it was horrible so i worked at a hotel in chesterfield and we actually had the mtv crew there filming for 16 and pregnant and me and another maid went in there to go clean the room and they had weird frosty all on the wall

01:30:00 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 6:

And there was condoms in the bathroom And we literally had to leave a note on their Hotel room basically saying We couldn't clean their room until they had cleaned it Before we got there

01:30:09 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh wow Okay so Shannon says that you guys do make notes About the people that stay in the rooms Like when they're Excessively dirty

01:30:18 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah we had to leave a note on there And we had to send them a letter into their room Basically letting them know that we couldn't even enter there Until they had cleaned it up Wow that's really bad

01:30:29 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 2:

What was the stuff smeared on the walls?

01:30:32 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 6:

Frosty from Wendy's. They had literally taken it and smeared it. And why? What the heck? I have no idea, but we went in there, and they literally had to steam clean the walls and everything. The whole room was atrocious. It was bad.

01:30:45 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 2:

I remember having to go down to the lobby. We were visiting Jacob in Chicago, and Luke and I ordered room service buffalo wings. Oh. And we ate them and Luke was sitting on the bed And the red got all over The comforter And I wanted them to know it wasn't blood Because I thought to myself, oh my god They're going to think that somebody was murdered in there So I go downstairs and have a talk And the guy behind the counter goes This is no joke, he goes Can you bring it down to me? I'm like, I'm going to carry What looks like a blood stained comforter Down to you Can you just have somebody come up and get it? And the guy's like, well we're kind of short staffed right now So I carried a blood – what looked like a bloodstained Buffalo Wild Wings cover.

01:31:31 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 1:

I wanted you on camera carrying that.

01:31:33 - 01:31:33 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah.

01:31:34 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm like, I'm the guy. I'm the guy that they're talking about. Oh, Laura. Laura, are you there?

01:31:41 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:31:42 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Laura. Did you work in a hotel? No. Or were you the guest?

01:31:47 - 01:31:47 | Speaker 4:

I was a guest.

01:31:48 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. What happened?

01:31:50 - 01:32:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, this was over last winter, and I was living in the hotel, so I was waiting for my apartment to be ready. So after working a 12-hour shift, I'm going to take my daughter's school the next day, and I kind of had to hold it throughout the whole night and all day. By the time I went to the hotel, I ended up clogging it. I called the hotel maintenance, and I told them, hey, my 8-year-old daughter clogged the toilet. And when I took my daughter to school, I had to call a different hotel to make reservations so I didn't have to be the opposite of that.

01:32:24 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 2:

Wait, I love how you blamed me on your eight-year-old daughter, too.

01:32:31 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 4:

And it's funny because the whole way to the school, I told her, hey, I'm going to make you take the blame because I have to go back to the hotel.

01:32:40 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 2:

I've done that as a parent. I have blamed my kids for my sins. What's going on, Julie?

01:32:48 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

01:32:49 - 01:32:51 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's happening? What happened?

01:32:51 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 5:

so i worked at a hotel way back in my early 20s and a really nice uh two gentlemen came in and they were super nice didn't pick nothing of it i went to go in their room the next day and there was poop literally poop smeared all over the wall oh no what were they doing yeah why poop is raining from the ceiling so i call my boss and i'm like look um they're like well you gotta get it clean

01:33:25 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 1:

oh you drew this short straw julie i i did a phone scam once where i called a hotel front desk to apologize for pooping in the pool and i was so surprised by the nonchalant attitude it was like you know they have seen some blank they've seen some stuff because it doesn't even shock them anymore when you work at the front desk of a hotel. It seems like, oh, just another one Monday. By the way,

01:33:50 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 2:

it just seems like such nice guys coming into the hotel room. Right? Who would have thought? How did it get so high? Animals, like throwing it or something like that. Oh, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. We went through 30 lines. We have not found the maid at the hotel that you and Smith stayed at this weekend. So they did not call. So they did not recognize. Maybe they They taste it. Do they taste it and go, oh, that's chocolate?

01:34:16 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 1:

Do you scratch and sniff?

01:34:17 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. I hope not.

01:34:21 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 6:

Second date update is coming up at 820 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:26 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the Morning show. Spike injured himself this weekend. It was in celebration you injured yourself?

01:34:35 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 1:

In celebration. Watching Michigan fairly dismantling the Buckeyes in the second half.

01:34:42 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 3:

We love to see it.

01:34:43 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 1:

oh my gosh it was such a great game first of all let's just stop and appreciate michigan squeezing the will to live out of the buckeyes at the buckeyes home turf that was the best

01:34:56 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 5:

it was so good and our best player was out most of the game

01:35:00 - 01:35:05 | Speaker 3:

and now our best fan is out because of it. What happened?

01:35:06 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 4:

Excuse me, I'm all choked up still. Celebrating that last touchdown, I jumped up so fast, and I smashed my toes so hard into the corner of the wall, I broke my toe. Oh, my God, come on. Oh, it hurt so much. It took my breath away, and I almost vomited. I was, like, curled up on the floor in fetal position, and everybody's still celebrating, and everybody thinks I'm making a joke about it. They think I'm just acting. Meanwhile, now I can't walk around much. I don't know if you see. It's all propped up on this side. I got my foot propped up. How did you do it? I jumped up and I was doing a little victory dance and I smashed my toe into the corner of the wall, like right next to the sofa there, and it just smashed my toe. And I was afraid to even look at it for a while. And still worth it, though. Go blue or go black and blue, I should say, because that's what my foot is right now.

01:36:01 - 01:36:03 | Speaker 3:

What do you have to do for a broken toe?

01:36:03 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 4:

There's nothing you can do. So if you can tape it to the toe next to it just to keep it in line. But you really just have to they just kind of you just have to let it heal itself and hope it heals properly and don't break it and reheal it. But I thought I'm going to bring this up on the air today. Anyone ever hurt themselves celebrating something because, man, it just put a sudden end to my party celebrating.

01:36:28 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 3:

There's nothing worse than hurting yourself like that and trying to not make everybody know that you hurt yourself. Yeah. And you got the pain that you're having to endure.

01:36:37 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, everybody was dancing and high-fiving, and they're looking at me thinking I'm doing a whole routine. Like, is he trying to be funny right now? I mean, it was painful. But, again, Wolverines 45-23, that was beautiful.

01:36:52 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

God, I mean, they just – they didn't just beat them. They just trounced them, and it was like pouring it on.

01:36:59 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 4:

It was just nice to show it was not a one-year anomaly. Last year being on the field celebrating, and, I mean, that second half, they were just unstoppable. They just put Ohio State in a blender, and now it looks like my toe was in a blender. Wait, is this your toe? Yeah, I sent a picture to you guys. I don't even know if you want to put it on.

01:37:18 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 3:

Hold on.

01:37:18 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second.

01:37:19 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 3:

Shannon goes, is this your toe? Does that mean?

01:37:22 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, if you shave your little toesies, I can tell you missed one. I know. I missed a hair. But listen. You shave your toesies? My toes get hairy.

01:37:31 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 3:

Do you shave it for this picture, or do you shave it just in general?

01:37:33 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 4:

In general. See, the problem is I like to walk around bare feet, and I'll walk around barefoot, especially around the house. It's a clean house. And then walk around barefoot, you don't want to wear shoes in the house. Oh, that's pain. And I have stubbed that same toe like four separate times. It's getting deformed at this point.

01:37:50 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 3:

It looks like it's crooked.

01:37:52 - 01:37:52 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:37:52 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 3:

By the way, the interesting thing is-

01:37:54 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 4:

It keeps growing even worse because I've done it so many times.

01:37:56 - 01:37:59 | Speaker 3:

Shannon looked at it and goes, wait, is this your toe? What else could it be, Shannon?

01:38:00 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I didn't know if it was like a Google image of just a broken toe. No, that's mine. Oh, okay. Yeah.

01:38:06 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 3:

By the way, if they Google image those toes, look at it. It's got strands of hair, like little stray ones. Got little stray guys up there.

01:38:14 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 4:

Your feet don't get hairy

01:38:15 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 3:

I laser them I let the hair look natural But it doesn't grow any thicker at all It just kind of stays It kind of grows to a certain length

01:38:25 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 4:

Get rid of it every once in a while When it becomes visual I don't want to look like gorilla feet

01:38:29 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 How did you injure yourself celebrating something? I know that there's got to be some good stories out there What's up Christina? How you doing?

01:38:38 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey how's it going? I jumped up and I tripped and kicked my toe into the door frame. See, there's a thing that Spike did.

01:38:46 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Same thing. What were you doing? The door frame is so painful.

01:38:49 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 1:

I tripped. I was actually walking from the bathroom, and I tripped. And I kicked the door frame trying to catch myself.

01:38:55 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 3:

When I had little children, like when my Joey, Jacob, and Luke were like little tiny ones, like Mike's children and Shannon's children, I used to, like, hurt my feet more at that time as a dad getting out of the house in the morning. Like, I would trip over crap that they would just leave all over the place.

01:39:14 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 4:

Legos are nasty.

01:39:15 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 3:

Or step on things, and it would, like, imprint my bottom of my foot. Bob?

01:39:22 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:39:23 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 3:

What's up?

01:39:24 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 2:

So, I'm on my third big toe. Toenail. Oh, wait. We were out partying on the boat, and in a quick hurry, I hurry up, grab the anchor, threw it next to me, and took off. So we hit some waves, and the anchor decided to come down on my big toe. And, yeah, a couple months later, that toenail was gone.

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Not only is an anchor heavy.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 1:

And pointy. But then you had gross lake water going in your toe. So you got to worry about infection.

01:40:07 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 3:

And then after that one was starting to grow in, I walked into the laundry room. The linoleum was a little slippery. My foot slipped underneath the wash machine, but the toenails stayed there. Oh, God.

01:40:22 - 01:40:23 | Unknown:

Leave it up.

01:40:24 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 7:

Why does that hurt us whenever he says these stories? All right. And last but not least?

01:40:32 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 3:

I'm on my third one now, and it doesn't even look like a freaking toe.

01:40:40 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 7:

Mindy, you slipped and fell, also celebrating that U of M win?

01:40:45 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 8:

It wasn't me. It was my mom. I called her because she had Ohio State fans over. My aunt and uncle, he's from Ohio, so they are huge Ohio State fans. and my mom and stepdad are huge michigan fans so every year they'll get together at this game

01:41:01 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 1:

oh how great did it feel to rub in their face that they just laid a big egg

01:41:05 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 8:

oh my mom was ecstatic so that's why i called her i'm like mom i know you're having the time of your life what's going on and she's like and my mom is huge like she loves to have fun and she drinks a little bit and um she said that she went to the restroom because she didn't want to do it in their face but she was celebrating like oh my gosh in the mirror kind of tipsy and she slipped in her own bathroom and fell during her celebration and she really hurt her hip and she's like the next day she's like i can hardly get around and move i'm so sure oh my god poor lady face for my aunt and uncle because you know my they were upset so she injured herself trying to celebrate it feels

01:41:50 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 7:

you know what it's it's almost it's almost what is god trying to get back at her for push putting it in their face or something what's the what's going on it's usually the opposite way

01:42:00 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 8:

around yeah right because she knows when when ohio wins because they have in the past and you know my aunt are kind of in their face about it and we i remember how that feels so i'm gonna go to the restroom and dance a little and jump around and she yeah and we all know that god

01:42:16 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 7:

It doesn't like the Buckeyes. What's up, Rosa? Hello.

01:42:21 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you guys? First time caller, long time listener. Yay.

01:42:25 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 7:

And you're calling up to tell us about your injury while celebrating?

01:42:29 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, actually, it was a friend of mine. We used to bartend together, and it was her 30th birthday. And so she got up on the – she was a stripper.

01:42:40 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 7:

So she got up on the bar top. I like how you whisper it. Nobody will know. She's a stripper.

01:42:46 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, let's not tell the whole world. Okay. So she got up on the bar top, and she was dancing to put it down on me. And she was 50 and flipped off the edge. And when she flipped, she kicked somebody's drink, and she landed on top of the glass. And it dug so far into, like, the side of her rib that she was actually taken out by an ambulance.

01:43:13 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 6:

Oh, jeez. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Jeez.

01:43:16 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 5:

Wow, that's crazy

01:43:22 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 7:

Ouch And Crystal, you broke a bone at a bachelorette party?

01:43:29 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 9:

Yes, at my own bachelorette party

01:43:31 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 7:

What'd you break?

01:43:32 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 9:

I broke my ankle

01:43:34 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 7:

Oh my god

01:43:35 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 9:

How long before the wedding was this? It was a week and a half before the wedding

01:43:40 - 01:43:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh no

01:43:41 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 9:

I went down the aisle in a wheelchair I have a metal plate and 12 screws in my ankle.

01:43:56 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 7:

You weren't with like a male stripper or anything, doing anything crazy.

01:44:00 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 9:

We are, we were on a party bus. And I decided I wanted to keep partying anyway, instead of going to the hospital. And a few hours later, I was at the hospital.

01:44:14 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm really proud of you, by the way. Yeah.

01:44:16 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 6:

I know that.

01:44:17 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 1:

Did your new husband know that story, the real story right off the bat? Not the whole thing.

01:44:24 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 5:

That's awesome. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:44:29 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 7:

All right, second date update. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? Carter's gone on a couple. Actually, Carter, how many dates have you guys face-to-face been with?

01:44:39 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 2:

Face-to-face we've gone on two.

01:44:41 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 7:

But you guys talk all the time, right? You guys FaceTime with each other all the time?

01:44:47 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. We've been texting, FaceTiming, calling for about three weeks now.

01:44:51 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 7:

And then something after the last date has gotten her to go silent, and you're wanting to know why you're not getting a call back.

01:45:00 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't know what it is. Ever since that last date, we were at her house, and things felt natural with her from my side, but I have not heard from her. She seems to be ignoring all my calls.

01:45:11 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 2:

Have you guys had sex? No. Okay, so it wasn't that you guys had sex on the last date, and all of a sudden now she's ghosting you.

01:45:20 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I mean, we didn't, so. All right, Mackenzie's out. I really, I don't know why. All right, we're going to find out. I'm trying to, like, pick my brain and think, but I don't know.

01:45:31 - 01:45:36 | Speaker 2:

Mackenzie is on with us, and we're going to find out what's the story here. Mackenzie, you're okay with your voice on the radio?

01:45:37 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Yeah.

01:45:39 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 2:

Hi. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. So, Mackenzie, will you say hello to Carter?

01:45:45 - 01:45:45 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Carter.

01:45:47 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 5:

Hey. Good to hear from you.

01:45:51 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 2:

Mackenzie, Carter's kind of wondering what's going on. he said that you guys were talking a lot up until the last date and now you guys aren't talking to each other and he wants to know what's the story yeah um i'm sorry that's nice it's nice that you say that i look i uh i snooped on your phone a little bit

01:46:17 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 4:

during the date and i i shouldn't have done that i feel bad but i found some sexual messages from another woman on your phone and that made me feel hurt and then i you know i've been feeling guilty ever since because i know i shouldn't have been looking uh where where was uh carter when you were looking at his phone he was just in the bathroom and so you were going through it and what did you what exactly did you find there was some sexting some pictures

01:46:55 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 3:

amazing to me people that snoop on the first date what like what made you go through it

01:47:03 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 1:

like what were you wanting to find or what were you worried about or

01:47:07 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 4:

i i like carter i like you i like him i'm like okay so i don't know i was just feeling like paranoid i guess and i i sort of feel like okay maybe like yeah i was feeling paranoid for a

01:47:25 - 01:47:40 | Speaker 3:

reason so maybe i so that's also why i'm like i don't know wait a minute you can't justify what you did by what you found because this is the first date you don't even know him yet you'd like He didn't give you much to be paranoid about when you're just getting to know each other's last names and everything.

01:47:42 - 01:47:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, yeah, that's why I feel bad.

01:47:44 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Carter, do you have anything you want to say to this?

01:47:47 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, honestly, I think it serves a right to feel guilty because, like, that's my privacy. I mean, that's my phone. You had no right to go through it. And as of the messages, we aren't, like, official. We have never had that conversation, you know? We were still testing the waters and all that. So, like, yeah, I'm allowed to message whoever I want to, you know, later on if we have that discussion, if we become exclusive. But, I mean, at this moment, I don't even feel like you had a right to pick up my phone.

01:48:17 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that would scare me away from ever having another date with someone. They did that so early. We don't have a relationship yet. Why are you touching my face?

01:48:25 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 2:

Would you know who she's talking about that she saw these messages from?

01:48:31 - 01:48:37 | Speaker 5:

I would know it. Yeah. Oh, there's a few. Again, I'm single, you know?

01:48:37 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I know, but I'm wondering, like, why did she have to go deep into your phone to look at these? Because that's even weirder if she's, like, going back a time. Like, when were the last? Like, how deep did she dive? Yeah, when was the sexting going on?

01:48:55 - 01:48:57 | Speaker 5:

No, I mean, it was recent. Okay.

01:48:58 - 01:49:13 | Speaker 2:

So, I understand that. But no, but if you are, you're going on three dates with somebody that you obviously care about that you want to know, you know, why she's not calling you back. But yet you got another girl, though, that you're sexting back and forth with. That is also interesting.

01:49:13 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 4:

Three dates isn't a lot, though. Yeah, three dates is an exclusive.

01:49:16 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so if you met a guy that you liked.

01:49:19 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 1:

Right.

01:49:20 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 2:

He's at your house, like obviously in this case right now, because you guys were at McKenzie, your house, right? McKenzie? You're at your place. would you you would be okay if all of a sudden he's like sitting there uh with somebody else

01:49:34 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 4:

like talking to him yeah because it's like a week and a half okay you're not calling each other

01:49:38 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 3:

girlfriend and boyfriend after three days you're still getting to know each other it wouldn't feel

01:49:41 - 01:49:54 | Speaker 1:

good it wouldn't feel good but it's fair listen yeah there's no rules against doing it but still right no it wouldn't feel good no if they haven't had that conversation yes but like it's it's fair

01:49:54 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

game at that point like he sounded so hurt that he wasn't getting a call back i'm not getting a call back from this girl. I really

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 1:

heard i really like her a lot well you like also the other person that you're sexting too you're

01:50:04 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 7:

talking about things happening fast she broke trust pretty dang fast right i get it what's up

01:50:10 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 1:

brian how you doing good how are you good brian what'd you want to say second date update i just

01:50:15 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 4:

how's she gonna be mad or stop talking to him on their first date she broke she she broke and went into his phone found stuff when he's single he can do whatever he wants until they make a commitment She can't do nothing about it. Why would she stop talking to him if she likes him? And vice versa. I need to work through this and figure it out.

01:50:38 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. Thank you for the call. Appreciate that. A texter says that what Mackenzie did was wrong going through the phone, but what Brian did was even more wrong not having your phone password protected. Well, that was my next question. What is that all about, Brian? Brian, why do you not? Why do you not have your phone password protected?

01:50:59 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 3:

And I mean, I never really had to worry about it. Like, usually I have my phone. I felt comfortable, so I just left it there on the couch. I mean, none of my other friends, you know, go through my stuff. They'll respect me enough.

01:51:11 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, this was a good test before you find out who a person really is and get the character definition in there. Like, my friend I talked about last week who left the cash in his dresser to test his dates. It's like, same thing. You just found out, okay, I don't want to be with this person. They're snooping.

01:51:25 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 1:

Or the buddy of mine that I had on like a month or so ago. Remember, he actually leaves a very suspicious thing on his phone to see if they'll go through it. But, I don't know. Steph, what's happening?

01:51:37 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 6:

Hey, yes. I've been married for 10 years, and I've never went to my husband's shop. There's no need to. Zero. No need at all. If you trust someone, you trust someone. Never?

01:51:47 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 5:

I know. I'm like, really? Never? Never? Not even one time you weren't curious? Not even to see the weird stuff that they Google? Like, not even to look at his Explore page on Instagram? Nope. Nope, none of that

01:51:59 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 6:

Only because I trust him I don't need to go through your messages

01:52:02 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 7:

I trust you, but I still want to judge you Based on what you Google

01:52:06 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 1:

Amber, what's happening?

01:52:10 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 7:

Not much, what about you?

01:52:12 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 1:

Just hanging out On a second date update, what did you want to say?

01:52:16 - 01:52:33 | Speaker 7:

So, well This is the reason why I'm staying single forever But I do believe It was wrong for her to go through the phone But I also believe Even if somebody is worthy of your attention, that's the only person that should be getting your attention. But I suppose that is just me.

01:52:33 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 5:

No, I see what you're saying. And that's why I said, like, would it bum me out, like, even after only three days that he was, like, sexting somebody else? Yeah, it would. Unfortunately, this is, like, evidence in a case that is illegal and has to be thrown out. Like, you still know it in the back of your head. Right? But it wasn't right that she did that.

01:52:52 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 1:

And somebody just texted in something very interesting. Tell us what you think. 216 says, is he cheating with Mackenzie on that person that he sexting?

01:53:04 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 5:

Interesting question.

01:53:05 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 1:

Who is that person? Carter. Mr. Carter?

01:53:08 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 3:

So the other person is very casual. Her and I are never going to have a relationship, but we enjoy each other's company. So if things had moved forward with Mackenzie, you know, I would have probably dropped that. But, like, again, we only went out on two dates.

01:53:26 - 01:53:28 | Speaker 5:

Also the nicest way of describing a booty call.

01:53:29 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 1:

Just very casual.

01:53:31 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 5:

We enjoy each other's company.

01:53:33 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 1:

He's actually smooth, too. I'll be honest with you. Either he's not lying or he's just really smooth. All right, so no second date going on here. Actually, not second date. It would be a fourth date for you guys. Or do you guys want to try to get together one more time?

01:53:49 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 3:

No, I mean, after that, I'm good I don't need anyone going through my phone Left or right Making sure that I, you know, text my mom That I got home safe or anything stupid

01:53:59 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, thank you guys

01:54:03 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 6:

Sorry

01:54:04 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 1:

01:55:06 - 01:55:08 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:55:08 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 4:

Alright, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty

01:55:10 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 1:

on the 30? Well, Michigan's victory over Ohio State on Saturday did more than win the Big Ten East for the Wolverines. It broke Spikes' toe. Well, it broke Spikes' toe. It also most likely cemented their second straight appearance in the college football playoffs. Michigan's one of three undefeated teams remaining after the regular season.

01:55:30 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 4:

They're in no matter if they lose.

01:55:31 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, even if they lose against Purdue, right, they're still in.

01:55:34 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 4:

And they're not going to lose. They're not going to lose against Purdue.

01:55:36 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 1:

No, they won't. I mean, that would be a huge upset. So correct me if I'm wrong here because you know like only half the time I know what I'm talking about when it comes to sports. But it'll be the Wolverines, Georgia, TCU, and USC. Yeah. Yeah? That's what it looks like.

01:55:49 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:55:49 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 1:

By the way, huge, huge ratings from that Michigan-Ohio State game. Fox Sports said the game pulled in an average of 17 million viewers, making it the highest-rated regular season college football game in 11 years on any network. It was also the most watched game in the history of Fox's coverage of regular season college football.

01:56:11 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 4:

I like the guy that's the announcer. That's Vise on that one. Who's from Detroit originally. What's his name? Gus. He always does the cool commercials. What's his name? Which announcer? The announcer for that game for Fox Sports.

01:56:25 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't know.

01:56:26 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 4:

Gus Johnson. He's from Detroit. He actually, I think he's a Cast Tech grad. But I love, like, he gets so excited over the craziest, simplest things. Like, you know, get a go, partner. Like, he does, like, weird stuff like that all the time. It's honestly, like, he's got that shtick thing going that's unbelievable. And I watch the games. I get more excited watching the games. And, obviously, even more excited. He makes a blowout like what happened on Saturday even more exciting to watch all the way to the end.

01:56:57 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 1:

Britney Spears back on Instagram yesterday, sharing more in naked photos. This time she's in a bathtub, cupping her boobs. She's got a little pink flower emoji over her Christmas area. It's actually two of the same photo, just different filters on them. I don't know why she does that, but she can't decide which one to post. Stop with the judgment. I've done it. All right, no judgment. I'm just merely describing if you haven't seen them yet. But the caption is what people are scratching their heads over because the caption said, I like to suck, never professional pics, sucking comes easy for me, keep clapping, bitches. And people were like, I have read that caption four times and I still am very, very confused by what she means. Is it a message to her haters? I don't know.

01:57:42 - 01:57:48 | Speaker 4:

I honestly think that somebody's got to step in and help her. No! There's something going on. I'm telling you.

01:57:48 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 2:

All she's doing is posting photos when we get naked photos from other celebrities.

01:57:52 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 1:

She needs a social media advisor. After last week when she was on her husband's Instagram Live and was not having it and didn't want it, that really weirded me out, that interaction.

01:58:01 - 01:58:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, and you look at every photo, including this one, and obviously her husband's taking these photos and encouraging it. So I don't know what his endgame is, if he's really supporting her and trying to get back in the limelight or if he's just looking to profit off it.

01:58:13 - 01:58:18 | Speaker 4:

And you don't post the same picture twice. I mean, come on. That's a big foul here.

01:58:18 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 3:

No, you do that because the slide roll, if you have more than one in your slideshow there, it gets more traffic. It pops up in algorithms.

01:58:25 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 2:

And also, can we give her credit for clearly communicating her boundaries, though, with her not wanting to be on the line? I'm telling you. She is standing up for herself.

01:58:33 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 4:

Mark my words, we're going to be coming back to Brittany. Brittany just needs at least maybe just like a friend or something.

01:58:40 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 2:

Get off her back and start holding other celebrities accountable.

01:58:45 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 4:

Leave Brittany alone. I'm telling you, I'm not her dad, but it could be like a good friend like you, Megan. Just be a friend to her.

01:58:53 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 1:

Jay Leno making his return to comedy over the weekend, just two weeks after suffering those severe burns to his arms and his neck and his face. Isn't that amazing? This guy, think about this, Spike. I mean, he literally got out of the burns. If you didn't come in today because your toe got hurt, I would make fun of you. Isn't that insane? Jay Leno gets burned. I'm like, wow. Well, get this poor guy. rolls up with his wife Mavis to the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California, hits a cop car with his Tesla on his way in.

01:59:22 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 4:

Ooh. Ooh. Hit the cop car. You can hear it deep. Tight squeeze. Oh, sorry. Yep. Jay, how's it feel to be back on stage, Jay?

01:59:32 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 3:

The elephant man is here.

01:59:34 - 01:59:36 | Speaker 4:

Making fun of himself. How's it feel to be back?

01:59:36 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm not on stage yet. I just got here.

01:59:38 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, you're coming out, though. We'll give it a shot. We'll see what happens. Oh, my gosh.

01:59:43 - 01:59:46 | Speaker 1:

Did you know anybody who was there? Who said he really did?

01:59:46 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 4:

Spike and I have been at that same theater that he did the comedy routine at.

01:59:51 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

It's been a tradition for him for, like, 25 years to go up and work out his routine and see which monologue jokes he's going to use the next night on his show.

02:00:00 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's kind of cool. I love this. So if you've ever been to a Broadway production, especially this time of year, they always do. They always try to raise money for an organization called Broadway Cares, Equity Fights AIDS, to help actors in the business who are battling that disease. So Hugh Jackman is in the revival of The Music Man on Broadway right now. And on Saturday night, I actually have a friend who's in that show. On Saturday night, everybody knew that Nicole Kidman was in the audience. Well, they were doing an auction, and Hugh Jackman was auctioning off a signed hat of his from the show. Who stands up to bid $100,000? Nicole Kidman.

02:00:40 - 02:00:41 | Unknown:

$19,000.

02:00:43 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 5:

And if you see any Broadway show at Christmastime, it's a tradition that they'll all do these auctions and after-show fundraisers for Broadway Cares.

02:00:55 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 1:

Very cool She goes up to the front of the stage Gives him a big kiss

02:01:02 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 2:

And I love what they do But I want to also say The show is extraordinary

02:01:08 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 5:

You see some of the cast Looks like they're going to pass out

02:01:11 - 02:01:40 | Speaker 1:

And lastly A company that rents out Santas Says there's a national Santa shortage Demand has gone up 30% With 2,200 job openings to be St. Nick across the country right now. We're in desperate need of Santa Clauses. HireSanta.com is struggling to meet the high volume of requests this year due to some of the Santas just getting too old to do it. They're retiring. Mike, you already got the hat and the beard. Others are facing health issues from the pandemic.

02:01:40 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 6:

I'll do it for candy canes.

02:01:42 - 02:01:57 | Speaker 1:

So sad. So the company's CEO said if you're looking for Santa for an event this year, you are out of luck. It's too late. They're booked. They literally don't have anybody. And he said for every potential Santa candidate, there are at least 20 or 30 open positions for him at least you know i've never seen a shortage

02:01:57 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 6:

i've never seen a mexican santa either so i could be the first why aren't there younger santas

02:02:04 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 2:

like i feel like it's not young but santa needs a redo like a young hot version like a grow up

02:02:09 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 5:

like a hallmark version of santa remember that one year like five six years ago we all circulated that photo on instagram of that hipster santa that was out he was too young and too clean cut and it didn't feel right.

02:02:23 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 1:

02:04:15 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to say he's on the naughty list.

02:04:18 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 4:

So it was either should Cecily get it as a reward for the fact that she's been good or should Milo get it so that Milo is threatened into

02:04:28 - 02:04:32 | Speaker 6:

being good. He needs a little nudge. He needs a little help. He's his

02:04:32 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 5:

daddy. And you were going to try and check the system and maybe put both names in or whatever but they wouldn't allow it right no no so how did this santa call

02:05:00 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I have no idea. I don't know. Which one am I going to scar for life?

02:05:03 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 5:

Right, right.

02:05:05 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 4:

And how did it go?

02:05:06 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 5:

Did it...

02:05:07 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 4:

Well, it did not go as expected. You know what? Actually, I got the picture to show you guys. It went completely wrong, and I honestly thought it was going to go a different way because we ended up going with the third. Oh!

02:05:24 - 02:05:24 | Unknown:

Oh!

02:05:25 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh!

02:05:26 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God!

02:05:27 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 4:

We ended up deciding to give it to our third child instead of...

02:05:35 - 02:05:37 | Speaker 5:

Michael!

02:05:37 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 3:

Michael!

02:05:39 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 5:

Michael, will you show the camera, please? Put that in front of your camera. Michael! That is so amazing. Wow. You guys, Mike and Ally. Oh, my God.

02:05:50 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 1:

Michael! I'm so excited.

02:05:52 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes! I'm so excited.

02:05:54 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Having a baby.

02:05:56 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 1:

Where'd you make this baby? What event? What Mojo in the Morning event?

02:06:00 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 4:

So it was either at Mojo's Hall of Fame party weekend or it was camping the following weekend. Oh, my God.

02:06:07 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 1:

I am so happy for you.

02:06:09 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 4:

You want to hear? I might tear up about this one, though. So the due date is actually June 1st. And I don't know. You guys probably don't know the date specifically, but I do. Because June 1st was the day that my dad died.

02:06:26 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh my goodness gracious

02:06:29 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 5:

Hold on, hold on Well remember, he only did one portion of this The person that's got to do all the work is on the phone with us right now Say hey to Allie, you guys

02:06:41 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Congrats, Allie Thank you How are you feeling? Now a lot better

02:06:54 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 4:

It was rough in the beginning It was rough Yeah, this one was different This one was way different Not for me, but for her

02:07:00 - 02:07:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm so mad at you How did you keep this from me?

02:07:04 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 3:

Wait a minute, he's saying how rough this was But yet he was still dragging your ass around camping all summer in that RV

02:07:09 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 4:

Now think about all the stories too Leading up to this point The diarrhea story All these stories I have to be delicate with Because my pregnant wife All these stories where I'm like You're like, oh, that's really not that big of a deal Then you're like, oh, wait a minute. It is a big deal because you have a pregnant wife. What are you doing? There's emotions that are there.

02:07:30 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 5:

I can't believe you, you bastard. I know. I know. I'm so happy for you guys.

02:07:34 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 3:

We know Mike's wanted another one for a long time. And we were even joking in the studio, well, they always created babies when we would have Mojo in the morning events. And, well, we haven't had as many events for them to have opportunities to snuggle up.

02:07:47 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 2:

But apparently we did. Well, and you tried to throw the scent off.

02:07:51 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:07:51 - 02:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Because you just did a topic about Jingle Ball and getting a vasectomy on stage at Jingle Ball.

02:07:56 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 4:

She does want me to get a vasectomy now. Yeah.

02:07:58 - 02:08:18 | Speaker 5:

That's good. Oh, okay. All right. Can I see your sonogram picture? Yeah. So you guys called Chelsea and I yesterday to share the news with us. You butt. And you showed us this. And Chelsea right away started freaking out because look at this. We got it on the camera right there. It looks like they're twins.

02:08:19 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 2:

It does. Well, when you just flashed it, I was like, wait, does it say baby A? Yeah.

02:08:25 - 02:08:34 | Speaker 5:

So right away, Chelsea was freaking out going, oh, my God. Like, oh, my God, we got twins. But, Allie, you calmed us down. It is, we just have one in the oven, right?

02:08:34 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 1:

It's only one. It's only one.

02:08:36 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:08:37 - 02:08:43 | Speaker 1:

But you're not the only ones who thought that. We have a lot of people that are like, oh, is there two? And I'm like, no, it's just one. Oh, my God.

02:08:43 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 3:

And look at that Sonica and the baby's wearing a Michigan Wolverine. Yeah. Actually, the baby's got a hat on, like Milo.

02:08:51 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 2:

Have you guys told Cecily and Milo yet?

02:08:54 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 4:

So, yes. Milo doesn't fully understand. Okay. He thinks he has a baby in his tummy, too.

02:08:59 - 02:09:00 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:09:00 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Sometimes I do after a big meal. I get it.

02:09:04 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 4:

Cecily, I recorded the video. I don't think I'll ever share it. I'll show you guys, but I don't think I'll ever post it anywhere because she goes through the first emotion of like, wait, what? Yeah. And then, like, you could tell the nerves kick in, and you could tell she's about to cry because she's almost upset, and then we start explaining to her what's happening and how she's going to be a big part of it. She's going to be the only one to go with us for the next heartbeat. She's already got a book of names now that she's decided. Oh, so cute. We're not going to find out the gender. Yeah, it's so fun. Yeah, and so she's now fully invested. She's excited. She's in. But she wasn't at first. It was a very—we were a little scared. Like, we were a little nervous. And it's right by her birthday. So we're like, what if it's born a little early? It could be on her birthday. So we had to explain that to her. And she said, I get a birthday buddy. I've always wanted a birthday buddy. Oh, that's cool. But that was what we were most.

02:10:00 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 2:

terrified for. Was that reaction right there? I didn't know. I had no idea

02:10:03 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 7:

where you were going when you had your phone in your hand and you're like, let me show you the picture. I'm like, your phone's in your hand, you dummy. And then you reached into your bag for the other picture. I wanted to tell

02:10:12 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 2:

you guys so bad, so many times. And like, we went to your house for, uh, Spike for the, uh, the Michigan. I, you know,

02:10:18 - 02:10:20 | Speaker 1:

I didn't even watch to see if Allie was drinking

02:10:20 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 7:

or not. Well, I assume she wasn't drinking because they were driving home. That's why. That cackle, Allie. That cackle. Right? Yeah.

02:10:28 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 3:

Listen to these text messages. These text messages are, yay, across the board, Mike and Allie. Oh, my God. Congratulations, Mike and Allie. Woo, congratulations, Mike and Allie. You guys made me cry this morning for the second time, Mike. All these comments from our listeners.

02:10:46 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 7:

I love when somebody announces on the show that they're having a baby. It's not Mike and Allie are having a baby. It's Mojo in the Morning is having a baby. Listeners, us, we are all having a baby.

02:10:57 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 3:

Sam, you're on with Allie and Mike. What's going on, Sam?

02:11:01 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 6:

I just heard the news, and Mike, super congrats to you and Allie.

02:11:07 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 3:

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. We appreciate it. And you even have a baby in the background there to also throw out a congrats. That's cool. What's up, Stacey? Hi.

02:11:17 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 6:

Hi, everyone. Mike, I am so excited for you and Allie. Congratulations. Thank you so much. I have goosebumps hearing the news. I was crying. I'm so excited for y'all.

02:11:29 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 3:

They're such great parents. I say this all the time. I wish that I had Mike and Allie as my parents.

02:11:34 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 2:

You guys are such great parents. We try.

02:11:36 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. The funny thing is, how many topics did we do of you wanting to have another baby and all that stuff in the time that Allie was pregnant? Did you do any during that time or no? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So were you messing with our heads?

02:11:50 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, because what I didn't want is you guys to focus on whether or not we were going to, And then you would try to get Allie to drink To find out if she was pregnant

02:11:58 - 02:12:14 | Speaker 5:

Erin what's up Hi I was just telling KP That I got absolute chills When he said it I was like in my car Driving my son to school And it got me all emotional I don't know why I'm so happy for you

02:12:14 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 3:

We're all so happy for you guys Allie and Mike you guys are beautiful parents And you guys make beautiful babies And we can't wait So what an awesome thing too Your dad's anniversary there, June the 1st.

02:12:26 - 02:12:36 | Speaker 2:

That is full circle. Yeah, right, exactly. When she told us, I was like, I don't know what it means. I don't know if it does mean anything, but how- Your dad wants you to celebrate.

02:12:36 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 3:

He wants you to have a celebration. Allie, remember, anything at all- You milk this girl. Seriously. And everybody from the show promises we're not going to drink next week at Jingle Ball in honor of you because we don't want to

02:12:53 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 1:

wait wait hold on I'm drinking for two

02:12:56 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 3:

oh we're drinking for you oh good okay alright thank you thank you we love you so much guys love you man amazing have a great morning Allie thanks for letting us share it on the air

02:13:09 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 5:

yeah bye

02:13:11 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 3:

here you go only appropriate that we play this song Mojo on the morning show Megan We hadn't talked about your Thanksgiving holiday You actually celebrated the night before Right on the busiest bar night of the year

02:13:30 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 4:

I did are you proud of me

02:13:31 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 7:

I went out to the bar you guys Did I say that you were out like two nights

02:13:36 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 6:

In a room What is that

02:13:39 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 4:

What did you do with Megan Three nights that we were off for vacation Three nights I was out at a bar Wow Past 10 o'clock

02:13:48 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 1:

Wow

02:13:49 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 4:

Have you been drinking?

02:13:50 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Remember there was a day you used to wait till 10 to get ready to go out?

02:13:54 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 4:

I know. And at this point, 10 rolled around and I'm like, I'm good to go now, right? This is late enough. Late enough. I love the post-COVID bar crowd, by the way, because we're all there by 8 p.m. And we're all home by midnight. It's a beautiful, beautiful scene. I love you, COVID, just for that. Everything else sucks. But going out and staying home early is a big win for me. anyways so Wednesday night obviously biggest bar night of the year and every year no matter how I'm feeling I go out on that night and I get absolutely hammered drunk it's just tradition I get drunk like two days a year and it's the night before Thanksgiving and uh St. Patrick's Day so night before Thanksgiving rolls around my my cousins uh live down in Columbus and they came home and uh we kind of did our Thanksgiving separately but we all got together the night before to drink and my cousin brought her new boyfriend which was very exciting it's very uh crazy trying to meet up with my family because we're loud and we're very close and it's just it's hard to come into the group so we're out at this bar and it's with me most of my cousins and a few family

02:15:00 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 3:

friends and i don't know what happened i truly love my friends but without discussing this they all decided very last second that they were going to make up how they were related to us and expand our family and they just lied to this new boyfriend i'm cousin amanda yes uh uncle jerry's kid i don't have a cousin man i don't have an uncle jerry just lied to this kid's face and he had been prepped right so like my cousin had run down like we're gonna meet up with so and so and So-and-so, this is how we're related. This is how they knew each other, yada, yada. So he shows up, and he thinks he's prepared. He's like, I got this. He had a quiz in the car. He nailed it. And then he shows up, and there's six extra people that he has no idea where they fall in the line for.

02:15:40 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 2:

And what's your cousin's name?

02:15:42 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 3:

Her name is Lindsay, and she brought her boyfriend.

02:15:44 - 02:15:48 | Speaker 2:

So did Lindsay play along with all your friends?

02:15:48 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes, because we're all terrible people. He started to catch on, I think, a little bit when we kept naming people wrong. Because they weren't using their real names, which was dumb. Like, my friend Eric said his name was Jacob, and then we started, like, losing track of what his name was. And then we were calling him two different names. It was weird. But I just felt so bad for the kid because his name is Luke. First time he's coming to meet the family, he's very confused. He thinks we're making fun of him. We weren't. But it was just, oh, it was a big night.

02:16:21 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 2:

question for you if your cousin is warning her new guy yeah about you guys what does she warn about you oh like do you ever ask her like what did you warn him about me yeah like what are the

02:16:33 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 3:

what did luke think about megan so he had stalked me online he was like so here i love i love when people do this because have you guys noticed when people come to our family functions and we're not at like a work event but they're meeting us for the first time they're trying to drop that they know what we do for a living without being crazy so they're like uh good uh you're big on social media right i was like um kind of why he's like i think i've uh seen the studio you work in because

02:17:02 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 2:

you work on the radio right oh he was doing some prep on you he'd done some research and uh yeah

02:17:10 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 3:

it was a little much and then i was like i don't know who you are you do for a living don't stalk

02:17:14 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 2:

me that's what i do to other people i love to do that to me it's kind of uh tough isn't it like you if you marry into or date into a family where there's a lot of family members and your family, actually you guys don't have a ton of people, right?

02:17:28 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's 58 cousins.

02:17:29 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 2:

There's 58 cousins. How do you know how many cousins you have?

02:17:32 - 02:17:36 | Speaker 3:

Irish Catholics. I count them. I didn't even realize that. How come,

02:17:36 - 02:17:40 | Speaker 2:

how come in all these years, I thought it was just you and your brother and your dad.

02:17:40 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 3:

No, my dad wanted no joke. Eight kids. Really? Your dad is one of how many? He's one of six. Okay. He's the youngest of six. Okay. That's my dad. But they had a whole bunch of foster kids, too. So if you count all of them, it was like 10. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah.

02:17:54 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

02:17:55 - 02:17:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:17:55 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 2:

So that's wild because for some reason I always thought it was just you, your brother, and your dad. And I'm thinking to myself, I never knew that. My dad slept on the radio. Why are you embarrassed by us and you won't introduce us to the rest of the family?

02:18:07 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 3:

Can I be really honest with you? So my family's from Detroit. My dad was born and raised here. Most of my family didn't think my job was cool because I used to work just on Kiss FM in Toledo. And I was on the radio Like I did the morning show Until I joined Mojo in the morning And then all of a sudden It was very cool what my job was And everybody cared They liked you way more than they liked me They thought you were cool

02:18:30 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 2:

So that's why we're not allowed to be around your family

02:18:32 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 3:

So did you give them all tickets to Jingle Ball? No

02:18:34 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 2:

There's too many cousins

02:18:36 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 3:

Megan's cousins hit her up Oh no there's not too many

02:18:39 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 2:

I want Megan's cousins to call us up And give us like some stuff that we have not heard about Megan

02:18:45 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 1:

Like things behind the scenes Because she's been the gatekeeper of all the old family stories.

02:18:50 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 2:

Actually, I want Luke to call us up, and I want Luke to tell us what exactly he was told about Megan from, is it Amanda? Is that what he said?

02:18:58 - 02:19:00 | Speaker 3:

Lindsay, but they're back in Columbus. They are?

02:19:00 - 02:19:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. Poor people.

02:19:04 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 3:

All of my family in Toledo do not listen. All my family in Detroit do.

02:19:07 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you, family in Detroit. We appreciate that. Appreciate those guys. It's kind of like you when you're here in Detroit. Right. You actually have to listen because you're in the studio with us.

02:19:18 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 3:

Right. Otherwise, I try to pay attention as little as possible to what's going on on the show.

02:19:23 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 2:

By the way, Mike just a few minutes ago announced that he and Allie are having a baby.

02:19:28 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 3:

You're having a baby?

02:19:29 - 02:19:34 | Speaker 2:

And Megan seems so offended that she was not the first to know this.

02:19:34 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 3:

I'm so mad about this because Mike and I talk about this literally all the time. And I thought we were closer than this. I thought that if there was big news, I would be the one like faking my surprise on the air because you had already told me.

02:19:47 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you think he should have revealed this, saved it for Auntie Megan and the Slightly Messy podcast?

02:19:54 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Because think about if we would have had that audio, we could have held it against Mojo and then played it again here. It could have been like a dual.

02:20:00 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 2:

dip of ratings. Yeah, but I feel like you're going to tell your 58 cousins that it's out there. That's right. Then everybody knows. Don't miss this. You're actually what? What were you going to say? That's about right. That's what I deserved. No, go ahead. What were you going to say? Are you a little salty? I'm very salty. You mad that I knew before you knew? Mike, we tell her that I knew before you knew? That Chelsea knew before I knew. And my wife knew. That's right. I knew and Chelsea knew before you knew. Actually, it was it was funny because mike's like you know whenever you want to do this and i almost was like you know maybe we should do this on a thursday don't we have big ratings on war of the roses thursdays and i'm like i can't keep it for this long you think i can keep a secret for that long mike no but i also know there's other things going on so like no it's it's your world i'm just no no no i gotta tell i gotta tell you this uh all right we're gonna come back here in just a little bit did you hear our breaking entering christmas wish uh we've got that for you in just a matter of moments stick around for that and yep a porn was filmed there we'll be right back

02:21:02 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 1:

mojo in the morning on iheart radio for the station to put the rum in pa rum pa pom pom merry christmas from mojo in the morning

02:21:25 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. Got the dirty, a phone scam, and a breaking and entering Christmas wish coming up here in just a little bit. All right. So a couple of things that I wanted to get to. See if I can fit them in before the dirty. One is, so Shannon has a story to tell about a friend of hers who, she is Airbnb-ing her house.

02:22:02 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so she has a home on the west side of the state. She lives here, but she has a home on the west side of the state, and she makes a little bit of extra money Airbnb-ing it so you can rent it. And I actually stayed there with some girlfriends. That's where we were playing all the games that you were making fun of me for. No, that's that one that's near Saga Talk, right? Yes, yes. It's in Holland. It's in Holland. It's a really, really great house. Well, if you have ever rented your house out for Airbnb or Vrbo, whatever you do, you know that there's a rule that you are not allowed to have cameras inside of your home if it's a rental. But you are allowed to have cameras on the outside of your home as long as you disclose it to whomever is going to be renting it from you.

02:22:44 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I remember Airbnb actually just came out saying that that was a big deal for them, you know, that they wanted to make sure that – because I guess somebody got busted having a –

02:22:53 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I'm sure people had cameras in their house and were creeps, you know. But she does have a camera on the outside of her house for security purposes. Oh, that's good.

02:22:59 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 2:

Because if I was Airbnb in my house, I would want to see what the people looked like walking in and out of my house.

02:23:05 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 1:

Right. You know? Sure. And you want to make sure they got there and they're there. Oh, I'm not worried about that. I don't care if they got there or not. Maybe you're a little curious, okay? I want to make sure what they're doing. All right. So she was a little curious about the people who had rented from her last week. And so she gets an alert that like somebody had pulled up in the driveway and she's like, oh, okay, they're there. So she sees a very interesting group of people get out of the car and walk into the house. And then one of the guys, two of the guys walk back to the car and they start bringing in camera equipment. And then a girl comes out and starts carrying. in some lights and then another guy comes out and he's got some tripods and then they've got like those big silver things that help like light you know like get the right light exactly and she texts me and she goes i think there is a porn being filmed at my house in fact i'm pretty sure based on what is happening there is a porn being filmed i mean it could have just been a photo

02:24:17 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

shoot? I've seen a lot of these influencers now

02:24:19 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 1:

doing Airbnbs. I'm trying to be super nice here with how I'm describing these people. She said it was very obvious.

02:24:25 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait. Describe them to us. Let me see if they look like anybody I've seen

02:24:29 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 1:

in any of the porn. No, they were also, all of them were all holding hands. Were they all

02:24:37 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 2:

wearing affliction shirts and things like that? There was one dressed as a plumber and he was there to fix something.

02:24:44 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I'd be honored if somebody saw my face and was like that'd be a great backdrop yeah but you don't want them on your furniture she's like how weird would it be if like somebody who watches porn was like hey Also, do you not think that people are doing it on your furniture in an Airbnb? These people just happen to have cameras.

02:25:05 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't care that they're doing it. I just don't want them filming it and doing it and then me having to watch it as my pleasure.

02:25:11 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 1:

I love it because I made money on it. You could have a sexy time with yourself and be like, and I profited.

02:25:17 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 2:

You know what's wild, though? But you've got to be careful because if you've got freaky parents and stuff, So can you imagine all of a sudden, like, the grandparents of this nice friend of Shannon's, like, watching porn?

02:25:32 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 1:

My dad doesn't know how to pull up Facebook.com. I'm not worried about him finding my video with my house. I really want to call her and have her talk to you, but she has the flu so bad right now.

02:25:43 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 2:

She didn't catch it going to that house, did she?

02:25:46 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 1:

No.

02:25:46 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 3:

Not the worst thing you could catch from a porn star.

02:25:49 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so it's funny. in the Detroit area, we found this out years ago that, and we never knew this until the show started talking about it, but like Troy Michigan is known for like being a porn capital, like a lot of the warehouses and things that they have over there that are like secretly porn studios or, you know, where they film it. Who would have thought that they also scour the state to look for like fun little houses to have these in? Because I watch, well we all watch porn, right? We've all watched it, but When you watch it and you see a beautiful home and you're like, oh, that home looks very Midwestern. It looks very, you know. Wow, it's surrounded by woods. That looks like the home from American Pie. Where are you? Are you in East Grand Rapids? What's going on? I forgot that house was there. Yeah. It really was. Oh, yeah. Mike, when we first got on Asinac, I said, Mike, Mike, take me on a tour. He goes, where would you like to go? You want to see where the DeVosses or the Myers live? I said, no, I want the street where they filmed American Pie. What would you do if you found out that your place was used for a pornographic movie? Would it make you feel icky inside? Because I could see where you'd feel icky about this. Did she feel a little icky besides the flu?

02:27:09 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 1:

Quite honestly, she didn't say that she felt icky about it. She thought it was funny.

02:27:13 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 3:

I never really understood the concept of really having to farm out a location for that, because nobody's looking at the background.

02:27:20 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, apparently Mojo is. He's noticing.

02:27:22 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 2:

I actually, to be honest with you, I follow a lot of architectural Instagram influencers.

02:27:27 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 1:

He really, he does. I love it. He does whenever I, whenever I would like Becky Owens.

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 2:

What's that lady's name?

02:27:31 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 1:

Becky Owens. I'm like, oh, Mojo's already liked this photo.

02:27:35 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 3:

But I have to tell you. The bad I get is I bought a house, and I'm trying to make it look nice with a little bit of money and not have a lot of money and how can I make this look like it's nicer

02:27:43 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 2:

than it really is? But I actually watch porn that way too. I look at the front door, I go Chelsea, hold on a second. I'm in the bathroom pulling my pants up, run out there, Chelsea I want to show you something. Our front door would look so cool having this wreath hung on. Anytime I see a porn

02:27:57 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 1:

with automatic blinds, I'm like, oh I could see myself living there.

02:28:02 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 2:

Alex, hi. Hey, how are you? Good, what's

02:28:05 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 4:

going on? I will tell you this, Airbnb does do background I don't think they're very good at it. About a month ago, I took a business trip to Florida. Now, just to preface this story for anyone listening, I do have a clean record. I have a federal captain's license, so I had to go through a federal background check to get that. I also have a CCW and own firearms, so I do have a clean record. I drove 19 hours to the southwest coast of Florida for business. I booked an Airbnb two weeks prior to my trip, and I got within three hours of my stay, and they canceled me because they said I had a criminal background.

02:28:46 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 2:

Holy crap.

02:28:47 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 4:

And this was when a hurricane was hitting, and I had my nine-year-old with me, and I had nowhere to stay because their response was I had to wait 60 days for them to re-review me.

02:28:56 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 2:

Why did they think that? Did they just pull up the wrong person?

02:29:00 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 4:

I don't have a very – I don't want to give my last name because I –

02:29:04 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, it's a common one. Yeah.

02:29:06 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 4:

It is not a common last name. Oh, interesting. So people would know who you are. Right. Yeah. So somebody else is a dirty person. I guess. I only find four people on Facebook with my name.

02:29:18 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 2:

Question for you, though. Go back to my question I was asking. If you were Airbnb in your house, Mr. Clean Man, and you found out that the people that Airbnb'd to stay for a weekend at your house were filming, like, a naughty porn, would it make you have to, like, call, I don't know, Hagopian? and tell them to come out and do a little cleaning?

02:29:39 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 4:

I think I'd watch the video just to see how dirty they made my house and decide if I needed to clean it.

02:29:43 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 2:

Would it make you feel jealous that they were dirtier?

02:29:48 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 3:

He's like, I think I'm going to have to watch this video.

02:29:50 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Make me want to move stuff on the wall. Like, I don't really like where that photo is. Can you imagine? Like, I hope when you Airbnb a home, I hope you take your personal pictures and stuff out.

02:30:00 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 1:

of there but a lot of people don't do it she doesn't even have any uh um but it was funny because you know you do have to have a cleaning service right that comes after each guest and so she was so curious she asked her cleanly she was like which bedroom was all oh my

02:30:13 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 5:

vicky brings up something scary what's that vicky hi how are you good what's going on good i'm

02:30:24 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 3:

actually at one of my airbnb is cleaning right now but um we rent my mom's airbnb which is my childhood home and someone did like a sting operation to like catch a predator in there oh my gosh really yeah and it was really creepy it was my childhood home and the funny thing is like somebody who rented that house from kentucky contacted me it was like hey this place looks really familiar i think it's your airbnb that i stayed at in the summer totally was did you bring

02:30:52 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 5:

condoms wow so was it actually the tv show or was it one of those instagram or like uh internet guys

02:30:59 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's a YouTube celebrity.

02:31:01 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, there's a guy that locally does this, and he does sting operations where he has people meet. Blank my blank and blank you. And he does it just like Chris Hansen used to do it on To Catch a Predator, but he does it at Airbnbs, and people get pissed because they don't want these creepy people coming to their homes. What's going on, Amber?

02:31:23 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Oh, my goodness. This is my first time on the radio. Oh, welcome. him um so i was gonna talk about the airbnb and uh like background checks so my dad is a felon and he booked an airbnb and they didn't check him and we drove all the way there and then they said he couldn't stay because he had a criminal record we didn't drive all the way back home

02:31:43 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 5:

oh crap oh that stinks i guess you who wouldn't think it's in their terms and conditions and all that you know that's wild i didn't know that they even did that as a background check but that's well so do you now have to book your name on the airbnb's or you guys yeah well thank you for the call we appreciate it take care all right um in your house okay if they were going to if they airbnb'd megan your home yeah where would they do it where where do you think that would be the the scene would it be in your room or would it be in the only room big enough to have people

02:32:19 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 2:

and a crew is probably my bedroom. And I have, like, the Cadillac of beds. So it's definitely going to be in there.

02:32:27 - 02:32:32 | Speaker 5:

Would it make you mad that someone's getting more action in your bedroom than you?

02:32:32 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 2:

It makes me mad that my brother gets more action in my house.

02:32:38 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:32:40 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

02:32:42 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, I have an update to this Balenciaga story that we talked about earlier. If you've never heard of Balenciaga, Yeah, it's a very luxurious, very expensive. Overpriced. Yeah, like fashion brand, okay? Designer fashion brand. Well, there was a campaign that was released recently that featured children posing with BDSM-themed accessories, wearing bondage gear, carrying teddy bears. And so, as you can imagine, people were like, what in the heck were you actually thinking by creating this campaign? It has been taken down from all of the Balenciaga brand accounts, if you're going to go look for it. Well, lots of people were outraged about this, as they should have been. A lot of people were all looking toward Kim Kardashian, who is a Balenciaga brand ambassador. She frequently wears their clothing, their shoes, and they were like, okay, what does she have to say about this? She was quiet for a while. She finally made a statement, writing on her social media, I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened. As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard, and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should be or should have, excuse me, no place in our society, period. And she said, you know, I appreciated that Balenciaga removed the campaign. She said, I appreciated that they apologized. I believe that they understand the seriousness of the issue.

02:34:20 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 5:

The story, by the way, broke a week ago.

02:34:22 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 1:

Yes, and she just released the statement. And so she noted in her statement that she is currently re-evaluating her relationship with the brand, which people were like, why are you not just cutting ties with this disturbing brand? The update I have, by the way, is that the producers behind this particular campaign for Balenciaga are being sued for millions and millions of dollars. It's just one step of many of how in the heck did this pass through so many people to actually make it for our eyes to see.

02:34:56 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 2:

They didn't think people would care. They thought it would be so...

02:35:00 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 4:

Delacious and sexy, but not. And everybody would be talking about it. Right.

02:35:03 - 02:35:04 | Speaker 5:

Which, yeah.

02:35:04 - 02:35:17 | Speaker 4:

I didn't think that Kim Kardashian thought it was going to die down because of Thanksgiving. Yeah. And thought that I can, like, pull a fast one and get away with it. And stay with the brand. Because you know she's got, like, a multi-million dollar contract with the brand.

02:35:17 - 02:35:19 | Speaker 5:

I think Nicole Kidman does, too, if I remember correctly.

02:35:19 - 02:35:37 | Speaker 3:

Hopefully, this points out a lot of the sexualization of children that's going on right now. Yes. because it's amazing to me that it took something that is so blatant and over the top to finally get to even bringing this out in the forefront. And with the amount of trafficking that happens with children and the amount of sexualization that happens, it's unbelievable.

02:35:37 - 02:35:45 | Speaker 4:

And the papers that were on the desk were partially obscured, but people did some sleuth and online found out there were court cases about child pornography.

02:35:45 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 5:

The whole thing is just gross.

02:35:47 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 2:

Who thought this would be a positive spin of controversy? This will be great to bring attention. Like, where do you draw a line and say maybe we shouldn't be making light of children who have been abused in traffic?

02:36:00 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 4:

But we have been sexualizing children for years and years and years. If you look at Nickelodeon like 10, 15 years ago, they would have like foot feathers. Ariana Grande stuff all the time. Yes. It's weird. Yeah.

02:36:11 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 5:

Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski made their public debut as a couple, a fake totally set up by their respective PR teams couple. But they did at a basketball game at Madison Square Garden yesterday. They were spotted courtside at the Grizzlies-Knicks game. They were all smiles as they sat next to Ben Stiller and randomly Jordan Sparks was there as well.

02:36:30 - 02:36:35 | Speaker 3:

Jordan Sparks. She still gets court-row seats at a game. My goodness.

02:36:35 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 5:

Real quick, Elon Musk plans to relaunch his Twitter verification system this week. That $8 paid checkmark will remain blue, but checkmarks identifying governments will be changed to gray. Company checkmarks will be gold. This news coming a day after Elon Musk said he would grant amnesty for suspended accounts that have not broken the law or engaged in spam. In celebration of DJ Khaled's birthday, he just turned 47, I think. Drake gifted him with four luxury Toto toilets.

02:37:09 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 1:

Really? What's some of the features?

02:37:12 - 02:37:18 | Speaker 4:

It has a UV light cleaning system. It's got a UV light cleaning system. It's remote control operated.

02:37:18 - 02:37:19 | Speaker 1:

It's remote control operating.

02:37:20 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 4:

It's automatic. Toilets can be open and closed.

02:37:22 - 02:37:26 | Speaker 1:

See, this with a light. The UV light. And it got the water, too, that splats up, right?

02:37:26 - 02:37:27 | Speaker 4:

Air deodorant.

02:37:28 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 1:

Nightlight. Nightlight. Refreshing air deodorant. I'm not even joking, Drake. We've been wanting this. Why four? Was one not good enough? Why four?

02:37:40 - 02:37:42 | Speaker 5:

He's probably got like 20 bathrooms.

02:37:42 - 02:37:43 | Speaker 3:

We the best toilets.

02:37:43 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:37:44 - 02:37:46 | Speaker 3:

They didn't want us to have the toilet. I was like, all right.

02:37:46 - 02:37:52 | Speaker 4:

Yes, God did. Did you see how much it cost? Oh, yeah. It's $12,000. Yeah. Each.

02:37:52 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 3:

Each.

02:37:53 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 4:

I want one of those, Mojo. That's what I want.

02:37:56 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 3:

I have a Christmas wish coming up here in a second. We might be able to grant that.

02:37:59 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 4:

I only have one bathroom.

02:38:01 - 02:38:03 | Speaker 3:

Go knock on her door at her house and we'll bring a toilet jar.

02:38:03 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 5:

Okay, and I have to tell you this story because it's just, it's so stupid. A Florida woman is suing Velveeta because her microwavable shells and cheese took longer to prepare than the time stated on the bus. How dare they? The woman said the box's ready time of three and a half minutes is false and misleading. I don't know how long it took her to make her Velveeta shells and cheese. Apparently, longer than that. She's suing for $5 million.

02:38:29 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 3:

No. I hope she wins. When you're hungry, you really need it, right?

02:38:33 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 5:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on TheMorning.com.

02:38:38 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning's dirt. And another phone scam coming up in minutes.

02:38:43 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 3:

What a show. Amazing. Still to come, Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. Get your Kleenex ready. You're going to be crying. So far this morning on the show, we've had some fun. A lot of laughs from the weekend with stuff that was going on. Mike and Allie are pregnant. We found that out. There's so much that you've got to go check out. If you missed any of the show, you can go listen to our podcast. Go check out our podcast available on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get podcasts. Just search Mojo in the Morning. Phone scamming Tim right now. Now, this guy has been a season ticket holder for the Lions for the last 16 years. He has seen more losses in his life. Now I'm going to do this? Yeah, now you're going to actually make him lose his tickets. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

02:39:28 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

You're home with the phone scams. I'm about to disrespect you right now. This is Mojo in the Morning. Hello? Hi, I'm looking for Tim, please. Yeah, this is Tim. Tim, this is Rudy from the Lions Policy Department. This is Tim that has season tickets in Section 221, Row 11. Yeah, I do. This is never a call I like to make, but, of course, every week I have a few I have to call in. We have reports that you were intoxicated at the game, and we had several complaints that you were acting loud and rude.

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 4:

No, that wasn't me.

02:40:01 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but here's the issue. It's your word against 12 other patrons. So, I mean, who would you believe in this situation?

02:40:09 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know where you're getting your information from, but I can tell you from my side I was at the game. I wasn't drinking and left at halftime with my wife to go home. And I don't really quite understand what this is about. I mean, certainly security didn't come to me at all.

02:40:25 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

But, sir, we had to act on complaints such as this. I mean, would anybody else have been sitting in your seats?

02:40:31 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, but I say we left at halftime, so maybe somebody else came and sat in my seats later on and they were causing trouble. I guess that's possible, but I wouldn't know anything about that.

02:40:41 - 02:40:45 | Speaker 1:

Okay, well, just between us girls here, you used your tickets, you didn't sell them to somebody else?

02:40:47 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 4:

Last two home games, I sat in my seat, absolutely.

02:40:50 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 1:

Then that would be you, the season ticket holder. I mean, 12 people are saying that this is a repeat problem that the last couple weeks...

02:40:57 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to tell you, but there are people talking, of the game, they're fighting, I don't know, like, maybe they're intoxicated, maybe they've got something going on. Right, but we're talking about your

02:41:05 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 1:

seats. Like, you have to be responsible for who's sitting in your seat.

02:41:09 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 4:

So, what's the point of this phone call?

02:41:11 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 1:

Get to your point. I'm sorry to say this, but we have to revoke your season tickets.

02:41:17 - 02:41:18 | Unknown:

What?

02:41:18 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 1:

We have reports of cursing and spilling beer, you know, shouting obscenities. Right, look, I understand

02:41:23 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 4:

you're doing your job. You're the guy who has to make these calls. But this isn't right. Tim, we

02:41:27 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 1:

We have 8,000 people on a waiting list for when season tickets open up, and I don't know how long we're supposed to ignore complaints from your section about your seats. I'm afraid we have to revoke your tickets and refund the difference. Yeah, okay. Well, you're not taking my tickets, all right? Can I ask you a question? How big's your TV? Excuse me? How big's your TV at home? Like, do you like watching Lions games on it?

02:41:46 - 02:41:49 | Unknown:

Dude, this is absolute bull****. Let me talk to your boss.

02:41:49 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 1:

See? There's the foul language that the other fans have complained about. I mean, am I supposed to pretend I didn't hear that just now? We don't have room for jerks and idiots to ruin the game for others, you know? I mean, we know that Ford Field isn't a giant cuddle puddle.

02:42:01 - 02:42:04 | Speaker 4:

All right, man, look, I just don't understand what's going on here. This doesn't make any sense to me.

02:42:04 - 02:42:09 | Speaker 1:

People get excited, people get mad, but you can't splash people with beer and use foul language.

02:42:11 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you for the last time, you have the wrong guy. It wasn't me in the stands. Another quick question.

02:42:16 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 1:

Are you balding? Am I what? Are you balding? No. I see that was a trick question because our security girl, Propecia, described you not as balding, but she said you had dark curly hair. So it sounds to me like that was you.

02:42:29 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how many people have dark curly hair at the stadium? It could have been any. I don't have time for this kind of ****. I have to go to work now. Yeah, but do you know how many of those curly hair people

02:42:40 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 1:

are calling a 12-year-old **** bat just for wearing the other team's jersey? Did you call the girl next to you an unmuzzled, sheep-biting foot licker? A what? Did you call the security guard a common flap dragon toad, whore, b****, b****, b****, b****?

02:42:54 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 4:

I think we're done with this phone call, and if you revoke my tickets, there will be a lawsuit.

02:42:59 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, then I'll end with this. I'll just let you know that this is Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show, and you've just been the part of a Mojo on the Morning phone scam.

02:43:06 - 02:43:07 | Unknown:

You guys are d****.

02:43:09 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good news, you can keep your Lions tickets. It's just the Mojo on the Morning Show.

02:43:13 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 4:

His dad's side comes out, you can tell, especially in the wish that we're going to grant today for a lovely young lady that our listeners probably are going to know because many people in the Allen Park community, they are fond of this young lady. Her name is Ellie. She's 16 years old from Allen Park High School, and we're going to grant a wish for her. Aunt Renee is on with us right now. Aunt Renee, are you there? I'm here. How are you doing? Are you excited for this too?

02:45:30 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm excited and nervous.

02:45:32 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 1:

I know. All right, so Mike's going to hang back with all of our wish elves that we have there, our truckloads of people. You're going to walk up to the door, and you're going to ring the doorbell so that we can make an entrance and be able to talk to Christy and Ray and then Ellie and, of course, her brother Sam, okay?

02:45:53 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:45:54 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 1:

All right, so walk up to the door. Mike, you hang back. Mike, mute your phone.

02:45:58 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:45:59 - 02:46:16 | Speaker 1:

All right. Aunt Renee, it's Mojo in the Morning Break and Enter Christmas Wish. For those people that want to have a wish granted, go to mojoswish.org. And just so you know that the people who we grant the wishes for have no idea that we're coming in and bringing Christmas to them.

02:46:17 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm at the door right now.

02:46:18 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 1:

Perfect.

02:46:21 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 2:

Where's mom?

02:46:23 - 02:46:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Give me a phone call. Hi, it's Christy.

02:46:28 - 02:47:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Christy. it's mojo in the morning hi hi how are you uh all right we put your uh lovely uh renee up to coming and knocking on your door this early in the morning because we received so many letters about your sweet family and especially your sweet daughter ellie for our mojo in the morning breaking and entering christmas wish program okay and i want to have the person who wrote the letter that really got our attention, read it to you. Okay. Okay. Take a listen.

02:47:03 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 3:

Dear Mojo in the Morning, Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. My name is Amanda Browning, and I am an Allen Park public school teacher. I would like to nominate Elizabeth Ellie Lost for this year's Breaking and Entering Christmas. Ellie Lost is a 16-year-old student that lives in Allen Park, Michigan, with her mom, her dad, and her younger brother, Sam. Earlier this year, Ellie and her family received the news that no family is ready for. Ellie had a brain tumor. Ellie and her family have gone to many different doctor's appointments and have had assistance from doctors all over the country. She had brain surgery in August, a round of infertility treatments to keep her eggs viable for the future and two rounds of chemotherapy. The family just learned that she is not responding to treatment at this point. This is devastating to her friends, family, and school community. Mojo, Ellie is an incredible kid with many friends and family in the Allen Park community. Before her diagnosis, Ellie was on the Allen Park swim team and Allen Park tennis team. Unfortunately, even school is a challenge for her at this point due to the weakness from her treatment. Mojo, please, please consider Ellie and her family for a wish this year. They could absolutely use some surprises, positivity, and some Christmas magic in their lives. Sincerely, Amanda Browning.

02:48:46 - 02:48:47 | Unknown:

Wow.

02:48:49 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hello. Hi. Hello. Hello. Amanda, thank you for that letter. We appreciate you so much. Chrissy, how are you holding up there, Mom? Well, I'm crying right now. I know you are. Yeah. But you've been so strong and I know it's been so difficult.

02:49:11 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 3:

And Ellie. It's been challenging for sure. Yeah. How's Ellie doing? She's okay. She is a ray of sunshine.

02:49:19 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. We received so many letters about your family and Ellie, and they all said something similar to that, that she's a ray of light. She's a ray of sunshine. She's so positive. She's so wonderful. So I feel like we know a lot about her. She's a pretty amazing young woman. She's a very special girl.

02:49:39 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 1:

And I hope that the whole family is going to be okay with this, but we call it Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish because we literally want to break into your house and bring Christmas to your home this year.

02:49:51 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:49:52 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 1:

And we want to do it right now.

02:49:54 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 2:

Are you ready for us? We were hoping for, like, coffee this morning.

02:49:59 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 1:

You were hoping?

02:50:00 - 02:50:04 | Speaker 2:

Sorry to say that. Breakfast. Oh, you thought it was breakfast? Hey, listen, we can arrange for that. Don't worry about that.

02:50:04 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 1:

That's the least of what we're going to do.

02:50:07 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 2:

Mike from our show is walking up your front drive right now, along with a whole bunch of people that are going to be carrying sacks upon sacks of Christmas gifts for you and for your entire family. And is everybody there right now?

02:50:25 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh. Merry Christmas.

02:50:28 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 2:

can i hang up the phone no no no you stay on this phone here okay you stay on this phone and mike will stay on the phone with us too and uh we're going to grant a christmas wish this

02:50:41 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 3:

morning so thank you guys you're so welcome um is this why my niece is here this is it yeah

02:50:51 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 2:

Mike, the beautiful family, give us an idea of what the faces look like this morning of this unbelievable family.

02:51:01 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 3:

So this is, not only is it family that is standing in this front yard, we have almost a full front yard of family, friends, teachers, and more.

02:51:16 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 2:

Christy.

02:51:17 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 4:

Look at that front yard I'm watching on our Facebook Live. It is packed with people. There are so many people that wanted to be here for this this morning.

02:51:26 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 1:

And it just speaks volumes to your family, Christy, and how many people have been affected by your positivity as you go through the challenge and the fact that, I mean, Ellie didn't let this bring her down. Ellie, we've heard from teammates and teachers alike, and everybody says the same thing. She's just been unbelievable through this whole process, and the whole family has been, and that's why everybody's here to support you right now and to show you an incredible Christmas.

02:51:54 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 3:

Well, thank you very much.

02:51:56 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you some of the great things that we have in store for you guys?

02:52:01 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 3:

Sure.

02:52:02 - 02:52:19 | Speaker 2:

All right, first off, can Ellie hear us right now? Are you guys on the speakerphone? Ellie, we are setting you up with so much stuff. First off, we got lots of beautiful clothes. We understand that you are a fan of specific clothes. So Shannon, Lydia did some shopping

02:52:19 - 02:52:52 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I can see You have a new wardrobe From American Eagle Ivory Ella We got two Crocs Which I'll give you the pass on I got a pair, I like them a lot Alright Okay, we got you An Apple gift card Some AirPods And you are a musical lover And I love this about you So can I tell her this? Yeah, absolutely. We are sending you to see Hamilton because it's in town right now. That's awesome.

02:52:52 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 2:

You and your mom are going to have a really cool mom and Ellie experience where you guys are going to go see Hamilton. And we have something cool then for your brother because Ellie, your brother's been really strong for you too, hasn't he? Can you explain how? Sam's been a pretty amazing young man. First off, how old is Sam?

02:53:13 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 4:

He's 13.

02:53:14 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 2:

He's 13 years old, and I understand that, Sam, you had an injury just before the football season. Is that right?

02:53:22 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes, when I first started.

02:53:25 - 02:54:22 | Speaker 2:

And you didn't let that get you down because you saw what your sister was going through, and you didn't want that to be anything that made Ellie not feel great. So you kind of just did your rehab and tried to make sure that you're okay. So we want to do something cool for you and your dad. we're sending you guys with some great tickets to go see the detroit lions play oh cool super cool and we understand sam that what's your uniform number sam nine nine and what was what was ray's uniform number christy or zero yeah what was what was ray's uniform number when he played ball back in the day i played hockey i was four you were four We got you guys personal Lions jerseys with your uniform numbers on them so that you, Ray, and Sam can go to the game while Christy and Ellie are going to see Hamilton.

02:54:23 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, very cool. Thank you. Well, it's one of the big things we talked about when we were reading your letters that were coming in about your family and realizing you had the family fighting this together. And if there was time together as a family, it was usually in waiting rooms and doctor's offices. And you just get robbed of time together to really just enjoy a night out. So that's why we got Hamilton, and that's why we got Lions tickets. And that's why we're also going to send you, Christy, with your husband out on a date night. Make sure you guys get a little quality time. And then the whole family, we got a trip to... Great Wolf Lodge, we are sending you on a date of your choosing to make sure you guys can escape for a little bit.

02:55:05 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. That is so over the top. Thank you.

02:55:10 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 1:

No, we're going even more over the top with this one. We're going even more over the top. By the way, you thought that Oprah had something? We're like Detroit's Oprah here, okay? We have other gifts for you guys that we're going to give you, including Ray. We want to make sure that we set you up with some cool things so that, you know, you get some clothes for the holidays and Christy, you too. But we want to make sure that Ellie has everything that she needs to keep her entertained and keep her happy. Like Shannon was saying, all the Apple stuff that she'll ever need. Sam, we understand that you need a laptop for school. So our friends at Comcast are giving you a brand new laptop, always keeping you connected and making sure that everybody is able to be connected. Comcast is going to give you that. And we also want to write you guys a check, the family a check, for $1,000 to help cover any bills that come your way.

02:56:05 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you so much. Thank you. Thank you, Amanda, for that lovely letter.

02:56:10 - 02:56:11 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that beautiful?

02:56:12 - 02:56:13 | Speaker 4:

Yes, thank you.

02:56:13 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 1:

Ellie, we love you.

02:56:15 - 02:56:22 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. You have a lot of people who love you. This is a lot of people. Yeah. I kept it for me.

02:56:22 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 1:

You're such a...

02:56:24 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 4:

It's darker here he is.

02:56:24 - 02:56:46 | Speaker 1:

Ellie, your classmates and teammates all talk about the strength that you have given them seeing you fight, and they want you to continue to fight on, and they want you to know that they love you so much and they miss you so much, and they are just hugging you right now from the radio to your home right now.

02:56:47 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 4:

That's crazy.

02:56:50 - 02:56:56 | Speaker 1:

Merry Christmas. Can everybody in Allen Park, Mike, make a little bit of noise for us today and this beautiful family? All right, guys.

02:56:57 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 4:

Are you ready? Well, now that you can, I want the whole neighborhood to hear say Merry Christmas, Ellie. Ready? One, two, three.

02:57:08 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 5:

All right. I love that.

02:57:16 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 1:

Ray and Christy, you guys have such a beautiful family, and it all starts with you, too.

02:57:22 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, we are very lucky and very blessed to have this support in our family around us.

02:57:27 - 02:57:28 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:57:28 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

02:57:30 - 02:57:32 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jaguars, by the way.

02:57:32 - 02:57:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely. And thank you, by the way. Got to throw a quick shout out. Kroger just popped in and said, Kroger said that they want to make sure they fill your cupboards with all the food that you'll need. So, Ellie, you got anything you want. I would suggest go down the cereal aisle and grab whatever you like. All right, congratulations, guys. Thank you so much. Thank you, Amanda, for the letter. Thank you, Aunt Renee. Mike, great job on this one. And Lydia, great job, too.

02:57:57 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 2:

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

02:58:04 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 3:

Just like the ones I used to know

02:58:09 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 2:

Where those tree-top lists are And children listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow, the snow, then I, I, I am dreaming of a white Christmas with a fairy Christmas card I write. May your days, may your days, may your days be merry and bright And be all, no Christmas, just be white

02:58:53 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 5:

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas!

02:59:03 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 1:

If I gotta listen to it, so does everybody else.

02:59:05 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

02:59:35 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 5:

Merry Christmas all night

02:59:38 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

Middle days Middle days Big finish And may all The hosts Young Christmas

It's the second date update A mojo in the morning

03:01:11 - 03:01:20 | Speaker 2:

Alright, second date update, why you're not getting a call back after you went on a date Carter's gone on a couple Actually, Carter, how many Dates have you guys face-to-face been with

03:01:20 - 03:01:23 | Speaker 3:

Face-to-face we've gone on two

03:01:23 - 03:01:28 | Speaker 2:

But you guys Talk all the time, right? You guys FaceTime with each other all the time?

03:01:28 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. We've been texting, FaceTiming, calling for about three weeks now.

03:01:33 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 2:

And then something after the last date has gotten her to go silent and you're wanting to know why you're not getting a call back.

03:01:42 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know what it is ever since that last date. We were at her house and things felt natural with her from my side, but I have not heard from her. She seems to be ignoring all my calls.

03:01:52 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 2:

Have you guys had sex? No. Okay, so it wasn't that you guys had sex on the last date, and all of a sudden now she's ghosting you?

03:02:02 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I mean, we didn't, so. All right, Mackenzie's on. I really, I don't know why. All right, we're going to find out. I'm trying to, like, pick my brain and think, but I don't know.

03:02:13 - 03:02:18 | Speaker 2:

Mackenzie is on with us, and we're going to find out what's the story here. Mackenzie, you're okay with your voice on the radio?

03:02:19 - 03:02:20 | Speaker 4:

Hi, yeah.

03:02:20 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 2:

Hi. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. So, Mackenzie, will you say hello to Carter?

03:02:26 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Carter. Hey. Good to hear from you.

03:02:32 - 03:02:44 | Speaker 2:

Mackenzie, Carter's kind of wondering what's going on. He said that you guys were talking a lot up until the last date, and now you guys aren't talking to each other, and he wants to know what's the story.

03:02:45 - 03:02:50 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I'm sorry. That's nice.

03:02:50 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 2:

It's nice that you say that.

03:02:51 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 4:

i look i uh i snooped on your phone a little bit during the date and i i shouldn't have done that i feel bad but i found some sexual messages from another woman on your phone and that made me feel hurt and then i you know i've been feeling guilty ever since because i know i shouldn't have been

03:03:17 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 2:

looking uh where where was uh carter when you were looking on his phone he was just in the bathroom and so you were going through it and what did you what exactly did you find

03:03:31 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 1:

there was some sexting some pictures this is amazing to me people that snoop on the first date what like what made you go through it like what were you wanting to find or what were you

03:03:48 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 4:

worried about or i i i like carter i like you i like him i'm like okay i don't know i was just feeling like paranoid i guess and i i sort of feel like okay maybe like yeah i was feeling paranoid for a reason so maybe i so that's also why i'm like i don't know wait a minute you can't

03:04:13 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 1:

justify what you did by what you found because this is the first day you don't even know him yet you'd like he didn't give you much to be paranoid about when you're just getting to know

03:04:20 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 4:

each other's last names and everything well that's yeah that's why i feel that carter do you have

03:04:27 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 3:

anything you want to say to this and and yeah honestly i think it serves a right to feel guilty because like that's my privacy i mean that's my phone you had no right to go through it and as of the messages we aren't like official we have never had that conversation you know we were still testing the waters and all that so like yeah i'm allowed to message whoever i want to you know later on if we have that discussion if we become exclusive but i mean at this moment i don't even feel like you had a right to pick up my phone yeah that would scare me away from ever having another date with someone and they did that so early. We don't have a relationship yet. Why are you touching

03:05:05 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 1:

my face? Would you know who she's talking about that she saw these messages from?

03:05:12 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 2:

I would know it's, yeah. Oh, there's a few. Again, I'm single, you know? Okay, I know,

03:05:20 - 03:05:35 | Speaker 1:

but I'm wondering, like, why did she have to go deep into your phone to look at these? Because that's even weirder if she's, like, going back a time. Like, Like, how deep did she dive? Yeah, when was the sexting going on?

03:05:36 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, it was recent, but we're not exclusive.

03:05:41 - 03:05:54 | Speaker 1:

I understand that, but if you're going on three dates with somebody that you obviously care about, that you want to know why she's not calling you back, but yet you've got another girl, though, that you're sexting back and forth with, that is also interesting.

03:05:55 - 03:05:57 | Speaker 7:

Three dates isn't a lot, though. Yeah, three dates isn't exclusive.

03:05:57 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so if you met a guy that you liked, he's at your house, like obviously in this case right now, because you guys were at McKenzie, your house, right? McKenzie? Yeah. You were at your place. You would be okay if all of a sudden he's like sitting there with somebody else, like talking to him?

03:06:16 - 03:06:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, because it's like a week and a half.

03:06:18 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. You're not calling each other girlfriend and boyfriend after three dates. You're still getting to know each other.

03:06:22 - 03:06:37 | Speaker 5:

It wouldn't feel good. It wouldn't feel good, but it's fair. listen yeah there's no rules against doing it but still right no it would it feel good no if they haven't had that conversation yes but like it's it's fair game at that point like he

03:06:37 - 03:06:45 | Speaker 1:

sounded so hurt that he wasn't getting a call back i'm not getting a call back from this girl i'm really hurt i really like her a lot well you like also the other person that you're sexting

03:06:45 - 03:06:51 | Speaker 7:

too you're talking about things happening fast she broke trust pretty dang fast right i get it

03:06:51 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 1:

what's up brian how you doing good how are you good brian what'd you want to say second day

03:06:56 - 03:07:21 | Speaker 4:

update i just how's she gonna be mad or stop talking to him on their first date she broke she she broke and went into his phone found stuff when he's single he can do whatever he wants until they make a commitment she can't do nothing about it why would she stop talking to him if she likes him and vice versa i need to work through this and figure it out all right thank you for the call

03:07:21 - 03:07:40 | Speaker 1:

Appreciate that. A texter says that what Mackenzie did was wrong going through the phone, but what Brian did was even more wrong, not having your phone password protected. Well, that was my next question. What is that all about, Brian? Brian, why do you not? Why do you not have your phone password protected?

03:07:41 - 03:07:53 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I never really had to worry about it. Like, usually I have my phone. I felt comfortable, so I just left it there on the couch. I mean, none of my other friends, you know, go through my stuff. They'll respect me enough.

03:07:53 - 03:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this was a good test before you find out who a person really is and get the character definition in there. Like my friend I talked about last week who left the cash in his dresser to test his dates. It's like same thing. You just found out, okay, I don't want to be with this person. They're snooping.

03:08:07 - 03:08:18 | Speaker 1:

Or the buddy of mine that I had on like a month or so ago, that remember he actually leaves a very suspicious thing on his phone to see if they'll go through it. But I don't know. Steph, what's happening?

03:08:19 - 03:08:30 | Speaker 6:

hey yes i've been married for 10 years and i've never went to my husband's shop there's no need to zero no need at all if you trust someone you trust someone never i know i'm like really never

03:08:30 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 5:

never not even one time you weren't curious not even to see the weird stuff that they google like not even look at his explore page on instagram or nope like nope none of that

03:08:40 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 6:

no only because i trust him like i don't need to go through your messages because i know that

03:08:44 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 7:

I trust you, but I still want to judge you based on what you Google.

03:08:50 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Amber, what's happening?

03:08:52 - 03:08:53 | Speaker 7:

Not much. What about you?

03:08:54 - 03:08:57 | Speaker 1:

Just hanging out on a second date update. What did you want to say?

03:08:58 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 7:

So, well, this is the reason why I'm staying single forever, but I do believe it was wrong for her to go through the phone. But I also believe in if somebody is worthy of your attention, that's the only person that should be getting your attention. But I suppose

03:09:13 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 5:

that is just me yeah no i see i see what you're saying and that's why i said like would it bum me out like even after only three days that he was like sexting somebody else yeah it would unfortunately this is like evidence in a case that is illegal and has to be thrown out like you still know it in the back of your head well right but it's it wasn't right that she did that

03:09:33 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 1:

and somebody just texted in something very interesting tell us what you think 216 says is he cheating with Mackenzie

03:09:41 - 03:09:48 | Speaker 5:

on that person that he sexting? Who is that person?

03:09:48 - 03:09:50 | Speaker 1:

Carter. Mr. Carter?

03:09:50 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 2:

The other person is very casual. Her and I are never going to have a relationship, but we enjoy each other's company. So if things...

03:10:00 - 03:10:07 | Speaker 3:

I had moved forward with McKenzie, you know, I would have probably dropped that. But, like, again, we only went out on two dates.

03:10:07 - 03:10:10 | Speaker 2:

Also the nicest way of describing a booty call ever.

03:10:11 - 03:10:12 | Speaker 1:

Just very casual.

03:10:13 - 03:10:14 | Speaker 2:

We enjoy each other's company.

03:10:16 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, top trending stories of the day. And if you missed any portion of today's show, go listen back to the podcast, please. We would appreciate you to subscribe to our podcast. you can get them wherever you get podcasts uh black friday sales they say hit a record and it's interesting because i felt like there was literally nothing good about black friday sales i felt like the black friday sales to me were all just mediocre sales matter of fact i think

03:10:47 - 03:11:44 | Speaker 4:

this guy on tiktok put it the best these companies serious with their black friday sales i keep getting emails like oh black friday sale 20 off 20 off you know this is black friday right you You think people are going to camp outside of Best Buy for nine days for 20% off a laptop? I'm not going to leave a Thanksgiving argument with my family to go stab a stranger over an air fryer for 20% off. 20% off isn't a Black Friday. That's a Labor Day deal. Those are Memorial Day numbers. A Black Friday deal is 80% off. And if you kill someone, it's 90. Free 50-inch TV with a purchase of socks. If I'm shopping at 3 o'clock in the morning, I want to be able to have sex with Macy inside of Macy's. What happened to us? Where's our spirit? You're not making headlines with 20% off. Do we forget our morals? Do we forget our violent history? Nobody's getting trampled at Kohl's for 20% off. Bedbands and Beyond does this shit every week. I don't even have to ask for it. It just shows up in my mailbox. And Amazon's not off the hook either. Come Cyber Monday, I better have my products in my house before I even order them. Isn't it true?

03:11:44 - 03:11:56 | Speaker 3:

It's been so disappointing when you realize, like, the average price on everything went up between 30% and 40% this year. And then they're giving us, oh, so kind, you're giving us 20% off. We still haven't even brought it back down to what we were paying a year ago.

03:11:56 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 1:

They say online sales, though, topped $9 billion, a new record. Today is Cyber Monday, which being Cyber Monday, marketing emails are out of control. Oh, my gosh. I'm tired of them. I don't want them anymore.

03:12:09 - 03:12:12 | Speaker 2:

I unsubscribed from so many today. It's crazy. I'm done with it.

03:12:12 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 3:

It's like a lost cause. It's like weeding. You just feel like, I'm just going to start unsubscribing all these that I don't even know I subscribed to.

03:12:18 - 03:12:26 | Speaker 2:

And then even if you go to the site and then they will email you again and be like, it looks like you left something behind. Nope. Nope, but I didn't.

03:12:26 - 03:12:38 | Speaker 1:

Cyber Monday, by the way, was created back in 2005. I can't believe it's been around that long. And it's the busiest online shopping day of the year. Do you know what tomorrow is?

03:12:38 - 03:12:39 | Speaker 2:

Giving Tuesday. Travel Tuesday.

03:12:40 - 03:12:56 | Speaker 1:

Travel Tuesday. But it's also Giving Tuesday, like Shannon said. But I never heard of Travel Tuesday until I was watching the news just a couple of minutes ago. They say tomorrow will be a record for people booking travel or booking airline tickets, hotels. and they say that they're supposedly going to have good deals.

03:12:56 - 03:13:06 | Speaker 3:

For holiday travel or anything in the next three months, you'll see the best prices tomorrow. Not long-term if you're trying to plan next summer's vacation, but we can't even look that far ahead right now.

03:13:06 - 03:13:56 | Speaker 1:

And to be honest with you, as far as giving Tuesday is concerned, it's sad to know that there's probably a lot of people that aren't going to be doing a lot of giving on Tuesday because there's a lot of needs that are out there. And, you know, I don't know. We're going to make you feel guilty. If you go on Travel Tuesday sites and get some travel, at least give something right um free returns are ending it's becoming too expensive for the retailers so after years of accepting free returns online retailers are clamping down on them returns are just too expensive for them and the companies are saying that there's a lot of fraudulent stuff that's going on with people's returns meanwhile the number of larger retailers like Zara and Abercrombie and Fitch now are charging a fee if you return. I noticed that. Up to 31% to 40%.

03:13:56 - 03:14:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, which bums me out, but I'm so guilty of being the person that will order a few different colors and I'll try two different sizes and then I just return what doesn't fit or what I don't like. And I think that's what a lot of people have been doing because you don't want to go to the mall. It's a pain in the butt, so you just do that and do it in your own mirror at home and then you ship it back because it's free.

03:14:15 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 1:

And then here's a depressing stat to end on. One in four are still carrying their holiday weight they gained last year. A quarter of us are still carrying the weight that we put on, spending time with our families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Despite 24% of people continuing to carry that weight, they are still planning on being unhealthy this year. matter of fact 4 in 10 respondents 42% are using the end of the year as an excuse to postpone healthy eating so bring on the fat do we get rid of all the leftovers by now is it done I had so many friends of mine that were doing turkey pie

03:15:00 - 03:15:26 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard of that before until this year. People, what they do is they take a pie crust and or they use stuffing as their pie crust and then they put all the stuff in one, bake it into like one big baking thing with like cream of chicken soup in there or whatever because everybody in the Midwest needs to cook with cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup. It just makes things so much better. And then they cook it and they eat it like the day or two afterwards instead of just eating the leftovers individually because they get bored with that.

03:15:26 - 03:15:40 | Speaker 8:

I gave all our listeners the best recipe ever about 10 years ago on this show, it was to take all those leftovers, roll them into a big ball, and then roll them into one of those Pillsbury Crescent Roll. Oh, yeah. And bake that. And get your own little hot pocket.

03:15:40 - 03:15:50 | Speaker 4:

I actually do something that's very Michigan. I just smoke my leftovers. So get high with your leftovers. Oh, yay. Yeah. Yeah, just get high with them. They're great stuff.

03:15:50 - 03:15:51 | Speaker 8:

Before, during, and after.

03:15:51 - 03:16:16 | Speaker 4:

You should have seen, I mentioned earlier this morning about how my kids were back for the holidays. The only time that they actually did anything together was when they went to the dispensary together. It was actually, kids wanted to go. It's like, poor Luke, he couldn't. He was only 17. It's like, Luke, I'm sorry, you can't go. But Joe and Jacob ended up going to the dispensary together to go get stuff. And they were telling me about all the Christmas stuff that they had there.

03:16:16 - 03:16:18 | Speaker 8:

Did they say, put it on the Mojo account?

03:16:18 - 03:16:24 | Speaker 4:

You know what? It's funny. Can you run an account at a dispensary? I never thought about that.

03:16:24 - 03:16:26 | Speaker 6:

If you could, I would be in danger. Oh, yeah.

03:16:27 - 03:16:46 | Speaker 4:
