00:04:59 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Mike, aren't you...

00:05:00 - 00:05:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited that your baby announcement is just content for people sitting on the turtlet.

00:05:05 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

Actually, yes. Oh, my God. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Wait till you hear what ruined the mood for Shannon and her boyfriend. Which, by the way, I think it's safe to talk about this right now. And I think that if we talk about it now, you got to do us a favor. You got to participate after you hear the thing that ruined the mood. because I think this is more common than we know.

00:05:29 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Please make me feel better. So I have this little, as Mojo calls him, a little yappy dog, which is funny because Mojo has the same exact two dogs, okay? Purse puppies. Yes, he's a little teeny tiny seven-pound poodle, okay? Well, my little teeny tiny seven-pound poodle, Charlie, who is going to be 13 years old this week, by the way, has the worst breath on the face of my head. I'm talking like not – like all dog breaths is bad. This is – it's like it makes my teeth hurt when I even think about it. It's so bad. And so last week I had taken him to the vet because he was having like a little tummy issue. And the vet said to me, you need to make an appointment for him to get his teeth cleaned. And it's a big production for these little dogs a lot of times because like he has to be put under. And that's how they have to clean his teeth. Traumatizing to them. So it's traumatizing to me, too, because I hate every time they put him under. I'm so scared that he's not going to wake up. So I'm like, all right, well, so I try to make this appointment to get the dog's teeth cleaned. They're booked out a month and a half. I'm like, great. So now my dog is going to continue to have this breath. Like, it's to the point where even at Thanksgiving, I was so embarrassed to have him in the house because he walks into a room and you can smell this dog's breath. It's that bad. I'm not. The dog is so tiny. This is not an exaggeration.

00:06:50 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 2:

How can something so smelly come out of such a small little thing?

00:06:53 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

So you just ask anybody who was at my house for Thanksgiving. They all smelled it. Or ask Wes. Poor doggie. Last night, we're baking cookies. And I'm trying to describe this in a way that is appropriate for the radio. I was laying on my bed, like kind of halfway off my bed at this point in the cookies process. And Charlie has a little bed on the floor of my bed. And so he was there. And all of a sudden, Wes and I are like, you know, doing our thing. and the cookies are almost done and all of a sudden we both just start gagging because the

00:07:29 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 2:

dog must have yawned or something wait the dog the dog was a little not not entertained

00:07:35 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

yeah the dog's mouth opened to the point where we both smelled the breath and we were just like gagging so bad totally killed the mood and there's nothing worse than when you are

00:07:48 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 2:

fully exposed and doing fun things to have a smell come out. And he's like, what is

00:07:54 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

that? And I'm like, it's Charlie's breath. Just ignore it. But we both couldn't ignore it. It was horrible. I was

00:08:00 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 2:

so embarrassed. I hear all the time people that will tell stories, and they're funny, and I know I listen, so I have them, where the dogs have ruined the mood for you. And you have to call us up and tell us your best story of how the dog ruined the mood because that would be a total mood killer right there if all of a sudden you start smelling this god-awful stink huh and it's have you tried have you tried chelsea gives uh henry and louis these little green things that every morning he doesn't like them really never liked them they actually do make your breath

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

smell a little better they're almost like breath mints yeah he's never liked them i don't know

00:08:38 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 2:

they're kind of i don't know what the uh and someone needs a breath mint yeah it's like

00:08:44 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Remember that guy that used to work at the radio station in the promotions department? Yes, I do. Imagine that times 10, and that's my dog's breath right now.

00:08:52 - 00:08:55 | Speaker 2:

Poor guy. He had the worst halitosis ever.

00:08:55 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

It was obviously a medical condition. Nobody else has it that bad.

00:08:59 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 2:

It was so funny because he would walk in the room.

00:09:03 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 1:

And we would all take a deep breath to just hold our breath.

00:09:06 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

You didn't hear him or see him. You smelled him. That's my dog. He would walk in. You kind of knew. That's kind of nice, though, that you don't ever lose Charlie. You know what I mean? Like you kind of, you know. You know where he's at. Yeah, exactly. Oh, Charlie must be around. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Okay, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. How did the dog or cat or animal, whatever, ruin the mood? Ashley, real quick, Ashley, I got to ask you a question. Yeah. If you can, keep it as clean as possible. So, like, baking cookies, stuff like that, you know, little euphemisms. Go ahead. Okay, so my boyfriend and I were baking cookies, and my dog came up and licked my boyfriend's cookies. Oh, no, wait a second.

00:10:00 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 5:

Really? The front cookie or the back cookie?

00:10:06 - 00:10:07 | Speaker 3:

Nope, the back cookie.

00:10:07 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no. Oh, man. Can I ask? Ashley, can I ask a question? Did he know it was the dog right away?

00:10:18 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he jumped up and screamed.

00:10:23 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Is the dog on the bed with you guys, or where were you guys?

00:10:27 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 3:

We were on the couch.

00:10:29 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's a place easy for them to get to, right? I wonder if the dog must have thought that you guys were wrestling or just having some fun.

00:10:36 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. She jumped up, and all of a sudden, I heard him scream, and that's all I know.

00:10:43 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 5:

That is fantastic. Oh, God, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. You're welcome. My favorite texter is, I can't go on the air with you guys right now. 734 sends this in. Can't go on the air with you guys right now. But every time that my husband and I try to bake cookies, our dog knows it. It makes a horrible howling sound waking the entire house up.

00:11:09 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:

It's nice. You know, it's cookie time in the neighborhood.

00:11:12 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 5:

Another one here. Everybody's talking about your dog, Charlie, and the gingivitis that Charlie has.

00:11:17 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she's got something for sure. The last time, you know, because these little dogs, you have to do this frequently. So I think I do it. I can't remember if I do it every year or every other year. But he had to get like a tooth or two pulled. I felt so bad. I felt like the worst dog in there. Can you get down and brush his teeth? He will not. These little dogs, they just clamp their mouths shut. You can't.

00:11:34 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 5:

There you go. 216 says, can't go on the air. I'm working. Otherwise, it would be hilarious. My hubby and I were doing a little something, something. And our dog got on the bed and peed on my husband.

00:11:49 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 4:

Mark in territory.

00:11:52 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 5:

Sierra, what's happening?

00:11:54 - 00:11:55 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:11:55 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:11:58 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 3:

I have a story about a dog ruining my moment.

00:12:01 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:12:03 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 3:

I was having fun with an ex of mine. And we're having fun. And all of a sudden, the dog busted open the door. Comes running in, jumps on the bed. Next thing I know, his mom followed in.

00:12:21 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. Oh, no. Oh, so you guys, how old were you guys?

00:12:26 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 3:

She was probably in her 20s.

00:12:28 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. So you guys were trying to be sneaky away from your boyfriend's mom, and the dog ended up busting through the room.

00:12:38 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, imagine this, though. This is the first time I met his mom.

00:12:41 - 00:12:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man. Oh, no.

00:12:45 - 00:12:46 | Unknown:

That was different.

00:12:47 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 5:

Nice to meet you. What do you do in that case?

00:12:50 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 4:

Do you put clothes on first, or you just pull the blanket up? What do you do?

00:12:56 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 3:

I was kind of just frozen with him on top of me.

00:13:00 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my goodness. Oh, man.

00:13:02 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 3:

I was at least covered, but, no, that was about it.

00:13:06 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 5:

That's such an embarrassing moment there. Thank you for the call. I love the texter that says, every time that my husband and I try to bake cookies, our dog tries to get in between us and just lay there looking at us. And then the problem is that with this is if you try to move your dogs out of the room when they're normally used to being with you guys in your room, then they get really like crazy anxious and they don't know exactly what's going on.

00:13:30 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Which, yes, I mean, that's like a whole other part of our problem is when it's just me at my house, Charlie sleeps in bed with me.

00:13:38 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So has Charlie ever been jealous of Wes, of your boyfriend?

00:13:43 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. Like he's cool in his little bed on the floor too, but he kind of stares at me like, what? Why am I down here? And he's up there.

00:13:53 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 5:

Amy, you say that you think your dog's shaming you. Is that what's going on?

00:13:58 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yes.

00:13:59 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:14:01 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 2:

So he will be in his bed in the bedroom, and we will be out on the couch baking cookies. And he will walk out of the bedroom and just come and stare at us while we're on the couch, just with a look of disgust. disgust.

00:14:18 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 4:

How could you?

00:14:21 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever have two dirty mom and dad?

00:14:24 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 5:

I wonder if there are any people that are fearful of getting naked in front of their animals because they're knowing that their animals are looking at them in such a weird way. That would be funny. Alright, great calls. Thank you guys so much. We appreciate it. It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:18:03 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, Will Smith said he realizes that some people might not be ready or willing even to see his new movie after what happened at the Oscars earlier this year, The Slap. He's currently doing press for his upcoming movie, Emancipation, which comes out in just about a week or so.

00:18:22 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 6:

You know, I completely understand that. If someone is not ready, I would absolutely respect that and allow them their space to not be ready. My deepest concern is my team. My deepest hope is that my actions don't penalize my team.

00:18:42 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 5:

That's amazing. You know, it's funny. I thought, okay, they're going to put him on ice for a while, not put out any movies from him in a while, and let it kind of go. No, he's got this one. Wow. I saw he was on The Daily Show also last night.

00:18:55 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and he was talking to Trevor Noah about, he was talking about the slap and what was going on inside of him that evening.

00:19:03 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 6:

You just never know what somebody's going through. And I was going through something that night, you know? And not that that, you know, justifies my behavior at all. I would just say, you know, you're asking what did I learn? And it's that we just got to be nice to each other, man. You know, it's like, you know, and it's like I understood the idea where they say hurt people hurt people. Yeah.

00:19:30 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 3:

It's wild, too, because Daily Show, I remember Trevor Noah was one of the most critical of him, really, coming down hard on him right after it happened.

00:19:36 - 00:19:55 | Speaker 2:

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Matthews, have welcomed another baby, this time a baby boy. They named him Patrick Bronze LeVon Mahomes III. That's a mouthful. Named after dad, of course, and grandpa, MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes. He joins big sister Sterling Sky.

00:19:56 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 5:

Mike, would you ever have a junior? Have you thought about that? I don't think so, no, because I want them to be kind of their own. You know what I mean? Their own person. Maybe, well, we kind of did it with Milo. We gave him the middle name, Michael.

00:20:08 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 6:

Are you afraid, too, that if they ever go to Belding High School,

00:20:12 - 00:20:17 | Speaker 5:

every teacher would go, oh, I know your dad. Detention immediately.

00:20:17 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 3:

Are you a junior, Mike? No. Robert is not a family name?

00:20:22 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 5:

That's a very, I have to go to therapy for this, but my dad actually named another one of his kids Robert. Oh. So there's two Roberts. Wow

00:20:31 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 6:

What was your dad's Love of Robert His name wasn't Robert right

00:20:37 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 5:

My grandfather's name is Robert My dad is a junior And then my dad named me but didn't call me a junior And then he had another son But the middle name is different So it's Robert Yeah there's a lot there

00:20:50 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 6:

He's like George Foreman He's got all the kids that are the same name They're all Georges Is that really true

00:20:56 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 3:

Georgeette or whatever No. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Billie Eilish said she cannot believe she's dating musician Jesse Rutherford. She does this thing every year where she answers a bunch of random questions for Vanity Fair. Actually, they ask her the same questions every single year. But when asked this year if she had a boyfriend, this was her answer.

00:21:20 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 2:

It's really cool, and I'm really excited, and I'm really happy about it. I managed to get to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f***ing f***er alive, but pulled his ass. Are we kidding me? Can we just round of applause for me? Jessie, round of applause for everyone.

00:21:41 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 3:

She said her love language is absolutely physical touch, and she said she needs to be touching his skin all of the time. Touching and cuddling and hugging and anything skin-related is really, really big for her. And lastly, gaslighting has been named the word of 2022 by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. The definition, if it's never happened to you, the psychological manipulation of a person which causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, reality, memories, and emotional and mental stability. Gaslighting. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

hello hi i'm looking for tim please uh yeah this is tim tim this is rudy from the lions policy department you this is tim that has uh season tickets in section 21 row 11 yeah i do this is never a call i like to make but of course every week i have a few i have to call in we have reports that you were intoxicated at the game, and we had several complaints that you were acting loud and rude.

00:23:22 - 00:23:23 | Unknown:

No, it wasn't me.

00:23:23 - 00:23:29 | Speaker 1:

Okay, but here's the issue. It's your word against 12 other patrons. So, I mean, who would you believe in this situation?

00:23:31 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know where you're getting your information from, but I can tell you from my side I was at the game. I wasn't drinking and left at halftime with my wife to go home. And I don't really quite understand what this is about. But, I mean, certainly security didn't come to me at all.

00:23:48 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 1:

But, sir, we had to act on complaints such as this. I mean, would anybody else have been sitting in your seats?

00:23:53 - 00:24:03 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, but I say we left at halftime, so maybe somebody else came and sat in my seats later on and they were causing trouble. I guess that's possible, but, you know, I wouldn't know anything about that.

00:24:03 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, well, just between us girls here, you used your tickets, you didn't sell them to somebody else?

00:24:10 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 4:

The past two home games, I sat in my seat, absolutely.

00:24:13 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 1:

Then that would be you, the season ticket holder. I mean, 12 people are saying that this is a repeat problem that the last couple of weeks.

00:24:19 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to tell you, but, you know, there's people talking at the game. They're fighting. I don't know. Like, maybe they're intoxicated. Maybe they've got something going on.

00:24:26 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 1:

Right, but we're talking about your seats. Like, you have to be responsible for who's sitting in your seat.

00:24:31 - 00:24:35 | Speaker 4:

So what's the point of this phone call? Get your point.

00:24:35 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry to say this, but we have to revoke your season tickets.

00:24:40 - 00:24:40 | Unknown:

What?

00:24:40 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 1:

We have reports of cursing and spilling beer, you know, shouting obscenities.

00:24:45 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 4:

Look, I understand you're doing your job and the guy has to make these calls, but this isn't right.

00:24:49 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

Tim, we have 8,000 people on a waiting list for when season tickets open up, and I don't know how long we're supposed to ignore complaints from your section about your seats. I'm afraid we have to revoke your tickets and refund the difference.

00:25:00 - 00:25:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay, well, you're not taking my tickets, all right?

00:25:01 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask you a question? How big's your TV? Excuse me? How big's your TV at home? Like, do you like watching Lions games on it?

00:25:09 - 00:25:11 | Unknown:

Dude, this is absolute bulls**t.

00:25:11 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 5:

Let me talk to your boss.

00:25:12 - 00:25:23 | Speaker 4:

See? There's the foul language that the other fans have complained about. I mean, am I supposed to pretend I didn't hear that just now? We don't have room for jerks and idiots to ruin the game for others, you know? I mean, we know that Ford Field isn't a giant cuddle puddle.

00:25:24 - 00:25:27 | Speaker 5:

All right, man. Look, I just don't understand what's going on here. This doesn't make any sense to me.

00:25:27 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 4:

People get excited. People get mad. but you can't splash people with beer and use foul language.

00:25:33 - 00:25:38 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you, for the last time, you have the wrong guy. It wasn't me in the stands. Another quick question.

00:25:38 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 4:

Are you balding? Am I what? Are you balding? No. I see that was a trick question because our security girl, Propecia, described you not as balding, but she said you had dark curly hair. So it sounds to me like that was you.

00:25:52 - 00:26:02 | Speaker 5:

Do you know how many people have dark curly hair at the stadium? It could have been any. I don't have time for this kind of ****. I have to go to work now. Yeah, but do you know how many of those curly-haired people

00:26:02 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 4:

are calling a 12-year-old dick bat just for wearing the other team's jersey? Did you call the girl next to you an un-muzzled, sheep-biting foot licker? A what? Did you call the security guard a common flap dragon toad, whore, b****, b****, b****, b****?

00:26:16 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 5:

I think we're done with this phone call, and if you revoke my tickets, there will be a lawsuit.

00:26:21 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 4:

All right, then I'll end with this. I'll just let you know that this is Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show, and you've just been the part of a Mojo on the Morning phone scam.

00:26:28 - 00:26:29 | Unknown:

00:27:34 - 00:27:34 | Speaker 3:

Nice to see you. Hi.

Hi. Good luck.

00:27:36 - 00:27:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell her. What do you do, Audrey?

00:27:39 - 00:27:41 | Speaker 5:

I work for Buckeye Broadband in Toledo.

00:27:42 - 00:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, very nice. Nice to have you on here. Hey, we're going to lock up Taylor in a soundproof area. Taylor, you have never done this before, so you're going to hear nothing, and then you're going to get a chance to say hello to KP, our producer. So tell her we said hello.

00:27:57 - 00:27:57 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

00:27:57 - 00:28:25 | Speaker 2:

All right, here we go. Five pop culture trivia questions. Whoever gets the most right wins. Ty always goes to the champion. Audrey, question number one. The fashion brand Balenciaga is under hot water, or is in hot water, over a scandal where they featured young children posing with BDSM-themed accessories. Which Kardashian may be ending their brand partnership because of it?

00:28:26 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 5:

Kim.

00:28:26 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 2:

Question number two, country singer Jesse James Decker is being accused of photoshopping abs on her young kids in a recent post. What celebrity competition show is she just on?

00:28:40 - 00:28:41 | Speaker 5:

No idea.

00:28:42 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 2:

Want to throw a guess out there? Three seconds.

00:28:46 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 5:

The voice.

00:28:47 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 2:

Question number three, which mac and cheese company is being sued for $5 million after a woman claims that it took too long to cook her noodles?

00:28:59 - 00:28:59 | Speaker 5:

Zalvita.

00:29:00 - 00:29:13 | Speaker 2:

Question number four, this singer is being called out by fans at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for using a teleprompter to perform her hit song, All I Want for Christmas.

00:29:15 - 00:29:15 | Speaker 3:

Mariah Carey.

00:29:15 - 00:29:28 | Speaker 2:

And question number five, Britney Spears is posing nude again on her social media. Where did she pose this time? A, the pantry, B, the bathtub, or C, the kitchen counter?

00:29:29 - 00:29:29 | Unknown:

The bathtub.

00:29:30 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 2:

Let's bring the champ back from a soundproof area. That wasn't so bad, was it? How do you think you did?

00:29:36 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 4:

Did she get number three?

00:29:37 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 2:

Did she get number three? Yes, she did.

00:29:39 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Thought so. Then, yeah, you did well, Audrey. You got four out of five.

00:29:44 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Four out of five. Just missed one of them. The only one she missed was the one she passed on. Let's see if that cost her. Taylor, question number one. The fashion brand Balenciaga is in hot water over a scandal where they featured children posing with...

00:30:00 - 00:33:00 | Speaker 1:

BDSM themed accessories which Kardashian may be ending their brand partnership because of it Kim Kardashian yes one to one question number two country singer Jesse James Decker is being accused of photoshopping abs on her young kids in a recent post what celebrity competition show was she just on oh my gosh Masked Singer. No. No, that's a good guess. Dancing with the Stars. The story is still one-to-one because they both missed that. Yeah, so that means you've got to get the remaining questions right in order to stay the champion, Taylor. Okay. Question number three. Which mac and cheese company is being sued for $5 million after a woman claims it took too long to cook her noodles? Velveeta? Yes. Two to two. Question number four. This singer is being called out by fans at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for using a teleprompter to perform her hit song, All I Want for Christmas. Mariah Carey. Yep, 3-3. And it comes down to the last question here. Question number five. Gotta get it right in order to stay our champ. All right. Britney Spears is posing nude again on her social media. Where did she pose this time? A, the pantry. B, the bathtub, or C, the kitchen counter? The bathtub. You got it. Yes. Yeah. Nice. Final score, four to four. Congratulations to you. Second win in a row. All I do is win, win, win, no matter what. Got money on my mind. Audrey, this close. Yeah. This close. Have a good morning. Thank you so much for going on with us. We're going to set you up with a parting gift, too. We're going to give you a four-pack of tickets to go to the Nutcracker Experience from the producers of the blockbuster-acclaimed original Immerse Van Gogh exhibit comes the ultimate holiday experience, the Immerse Nutcracker. It's happening at the Lighthouse Airspace Detroit. Tickets on sale right now at immerse-nutcracker.com. Is that like that thing I went to where Chelsea made me go, where you looked at all the... The Van Gogh. The Van Gogh. I think it's similar to that. Is it? I think so, yeah. Oh, all right. Well, have fun. All right. Hang on the phone for a second. Chelsea, don't make me go to... It's Mojo in the Morning 5 to 6.55. Man, it just doesn't seem right. Sorry. Feel a little off today. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. thank you for being here you're home on the phone scams the war of the roses and the dirty on the 30 i feel like a little off because and it's gonna sound very weird but i washed my pants and i had to so i'm gonna bring this up i'm gonna mention this because i think that there's a lot

00:33:00 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

of people can relate to this maybe not as many because you might think that this is disgusting i hadn't washed my jeans for months months yes months you're not supposed to i i thank you well months is taking it a little far weeks couple times couple wears all right let me just explain the story and then judge me okay so i had them in a great feel zone like my jeans were in a great feel zone where i wasn't feeling like i was always constantly having to pull up my pants and And they were feeling so soft and kind of crispy. Supple. You know, supple. Not moist. I haven't used that word. They're moist this morning. Supple. It's a long time. And so for the last, and I haven't been wearing them all the time because I would wear, occasionally I would wear, you know, shorts and stuff like that. You know, when the weather had been kind of relatively nice. Well, I got into a zone with them. And then Chelsea ordered DoorDash Red Robin and Red Robin Ranch got on my pants. And I was like, crap. First off, I was a little bit worried because I was worried that the Red Robin Ranch was going to stain my pants. And it was in a spot where you didn't want it. It was like right in the crotch zone. So you don't want that kind of a stain right there. And so, but Chelsea uses Dawn, you know, into the dishwashing soap. And it came right out. Well, we quickly washed them and then hung dry them today. And then I got them off the dryer. And they're kind of, you know, a little bit, maybe a couple spots might be a little damp. But the problem is they don't feel like they've felt the last few months. They're not as comfortable right now. Got to break them in all over again. And I don't, I mean, I don't know. How often do you wash your jeans, Shannon? I give them a bunch of wares before I wash them. But I wouldn't say it was months. um,

00:35:00 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 2:

I'd probably wear mine, as long as they don't smell or I didn't put anything on, you know, like drop anything on them, like ranch. I don't know. I do the smell test. Yeah. Oh, I do. I really do do the sniff test. I don't know. Maybe like five times, six times. Okay. And then you wash them. Before I wash them. Yeah, I'm about the same. Yeah. I kind of, it's like, okay. When you buy a new pair of jeans, there's nothing like it. Oh, yeah. They fit so perfectly. But that first time you wash.

00:35:23 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 5:

Guys, I'm wearing a brand new pair today. I celebrate. Oh, man. Look at this. And I know. It's fancy. Dark wash. So I know when I take them off, my legs are going to be blue.

00:35:32 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, your hands are probably blue when you go wash them in the bathroom.

00:35:35 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 6:

And don't sit on any piece of furniture that's not darker furniture. Yeah. You're going to leave it on the furniture.

00:35:39 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 5:

This is the first wear. It's like Christmas morning over here.

00:35:42 - 00:35:54 | Speaker 2:

But these must have just been washed because when I put them on this morning, I was doing the dance. And all girls know the dance of like the squat and up and the squat. Guys do that too. You stretch out.

00:35:54 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 6:

I had to stretch these ones out a little bit today. I was like, oh my God, did I just gain weight overnight? Was that Red Robin that heavy yesterday? So, okay, so I just Googled this, and it says, I said, how long should you go before washing your jeans? The head of Levi says never wash your jeans.

00:36:10 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I remember that interview.

00:36:12 - 00:36:21 | Speaker 6:

The head of Levi says that jeans are not meant for washing. Agreed. You should keep them, you know. And then the person from Madewell, what brand is that?

00:36:22 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 2:

Madewell is, it's like a J.Crew, like a step down from J.Crew.

00:36:26 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so the head designer, at Madewell says three to four wearings and then a microbiologist says this is interesting does washing your jeans pose any health risk a microbiologist tested this out and said that they haven't found the case in fact a study done by the University of Alberta in Canada tested out the theory from college students who never washed their jeans for 15 straight months and they found that the bacteria count was surprisingly low on a pair of jeans.

00:36:58 - 00:37:03 | Speaker 1:

Any time a company tells you to wash your jeans, I just think that they want you to wear through them so you have to buy more jeans.

00:37:03 - 00:37:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was going to say that. That's why I was surprised the first CEO said never wash them because I'm thinking, don't you want them to wear out faster so people have to buy more jeans? But things get dirty. You can't, I mean, it's just gross to me. They get a smell after a while.

00:37:18 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

Spot clean and then throw them in the freezer. So that does not work, unfortunately.

00:37:22 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 2:

I had a girlfriend who used to work in retail, and she used to tell me to do this all the time. And then, in fact, I just checked this, as you said that, Megan. They did, like, a bunch of studies on it, and it doesn't do a dang thing. It doesn't kill microbes and bacteria. Unfortunately, that was, like, an old wives' tale.

00:37:34 - 00:37:35 | Speaker 6:

What's up, bud, John?

00:37:37 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. Good morning, guys.

00:37:39 - 00:37:39 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

00:37:41 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 4:

Every day at the University of Michigan, we had a Professor Wolf organic chemistry teacher. He would wear the same jeans Never wash them And he would wipe the chalk dust From his hands on him every day And his jeans were white by the end of his dress

00:37:57 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 6:

And you know for a fact They're the same jeans Because you'd see the chalk dust on them That's so funny

00:38:04 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 5:

Well he's organic chemistry Maybe he's trying to create something in lab For you guys to examine

00:38:09 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 6:

What's going on Rob Hi

00:38:13 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey what's going on guys

00:38:16 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 6:

good morning good morning good morning buddy is this disgusting that i never washed my jeans

00:38:20 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 3:

uh yeah i was i was discussing that mojo i'm with you bro like especially black jeans like i have never washed a pair of black jeans i will replace them before i watch because first of all they never feel the same second of all black jeans fade faster than anything else once they fade you can never wear them again yeah that is a good point your shoes anymore they don't go your shirt anymore it just looks absolutely terrible do not wash the black jeans replace

00:38:49 - 00:38:55 | Speaker 5:

them can i do the big mortal sin of jeans too i throw them in a dryer i know that's a huge

00:38:55 - 00:39:06 | Speaker 3:

mortal sin and i have a have a gut and i always blame my wife like hey um why did you dry my jeans i can never wear these anymore so yeah never never do that rob let me give you a tip okay this

00:39:06 - 00:39:22 | Speaker 6:

was given to me by uh a person that sold me a pair of jeans and i do this you don't want your jeans to fade, put a little vinegar in the first washing and always wash your jeans inside out. The first washing has to have a little bit of vinegar inside.

00:39:22 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 5:

Then you smell vinegar crotch.

00:39:26 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 3:

I want it to smell dawn fresh. I'd rather have them fade it and smell like vinegar.

00:39:31 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 5:

I want to smell like Snuggles of Fabric Softener in my ass crotch. I don't want vinegar. That's gross. I also didn't know about the drying thing. You're not supposed to dry your jeans. Well, you can. I do it. I like it. Tighten them up a little bit after they've been worn a bunch of times, but it also wears them out faster.

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 6:

Misfit Kaylee, what's happening?

00:39:51 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys.

00:39:51 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

So I've seen on TikTok that you can shower in jeans that don't fit you.

00:40:00 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 6:

snug or comfortably as you would like them to and let them air dry, I sent the text in with the Google link. I'm not sure if you guys got that. We did, but

00:40:07 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 2:

Kaylee, that is gross. Don't shower in your jeans. Well, you shower in them

00:40:13 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

once, right? Yeah.

00:40:17 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 2:

I've seen... The problem is everybody follows everything they see on TikTok and eventually you're going to die from it.

00:40:23 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 1:

This is much better than a Tide Pod one, though. Destiny, tell everybody what you do. You are crazy.

00:40:32 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 7:

I wash my jeans after every single hair. Do you? Are you a germphobe? I don't want to say that I'm a germaphobe. However, you're putting them on your body. If you have lotion on, as soon as I wear lotion every small day, you're going out in public, you're sitting on stuff that's not yours. You don't know who else sat on that. Did they do something on that seat that you just put your butt in? When I get home, I'm like, I can't. I'm also in nursing school, so the things that I see in clinicals is not very healthy, in my opinion.

00:41:06 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that would make me wash my jeans every day, I bet, if I was actually thinking about where they've been.

00:41:12 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember how crazy we were when we were going through the beginning stages of 2020 COVID and stuff like that?

00:41:18 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 5:

And you'd get changed, like, in the garage.

00:41:20 - 00:41:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, you'd do it all the time. I ruined every jeans that I had at that particular time. um mojo in the morning what's going on holly good morning guys hey so i have to wash my jeans after

00:41:36 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 6:

every two or three times that i wear them because they're so stretchy nowadays that they just don't

00:41:42 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 2:

hold their fit that's true that is so true yeah that's why i throw them back in the dryer a little

00:41:46 - 00:42:00 | Speaker 1:

bit yeah the dryer is a good thing to do like just like a 20 minute dry and just see what happens plus there's nothing better than hot jeans right putting them on uh yeah take care uh emily

00:42:00 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 8:

hi what's up um my mind is like completely blown right now i had no idea this was a thing i just like wash my jeans every single night like whatever i wear i put in the washing machine i

00:42:17 - 00:42:22 | Speaker 1:

Do you think we're disgusting for not washing our jeans all the time?

00:42:23 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 8:

I mean, I feel like I'm following the masses now where I'm like, maybe I've been wrong this whole time. I'm like Googling stuff like crazy right now. Like, am I the only one that does this?

00:42:34 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, I get it. It does sound disgusting, but that's not the thing. Like, I guess there's a lot of people that, you know, that also like Megan and myself are disgusting pigs. We don't ever wash our jeans.

00:42:47 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 5:

I'm not disagreeing with you.

00:42:49 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:42:52 - 00:42:55 | Speaker 8:

Mumps is a bit excessive, I feel like. But, you know.

00:42:56 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 1:

My problem is it's hard to find a good pair of jeans that fits a guy like myself. You know? So once I find it, it's like, oh. And it bothers me when they stop making that same style. Like, they'll go, no, I'm sorry. We don't have that style anymore. I'm like, what? You can't do that stuff.

00:43:12 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay, and it's also gross when people don't wear underwear with their jeans. That's the only thing.

00:43:16 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 5:

I don't even agree with you more. How do you? Doesn't that hurt you? Like, I don't, I actually can't wrap my brain around it. Yeah.

00:43:24 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 1:

Right. If you're a person that doesn't wear underwear and you also don't wash your jeans, you are dirty. Because you got a filthy booty. All right. Thank you for the calls. Speaking of Secret Santas, today on the More Mojo podcast, we're actually going to pick Secret Santas. So if you guys check out our More Mojo podcast Later today That's what we're doing We're going to get ready for Christmas And we're going to do Secret Santa this year We always have like the big argument Over the Christmas time of what should we do It's always Should we do You know The white elephant You hate white elephant I hate it I always hate white elephant Because I end up going home with a piece of Somebody else's crap You know what I mean and then somebody ends up going home with something good.

00:44:13 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 5:

That's kind of the whole purpose of Whale.

00:44:14 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 1:

I know, but somebody ends up going home with something good and I get very jealous because that was, I grew up with six kids in my family and that's what it was like at Christmas time. It was always like Bill, my brother, got the best gifts and everybody else, my mom used to feel bad for him because he had a lot of issues. So she would make up for it at Christmas time.

00:44:33 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Was one of those issues that he was your brother?

00:44:35 - 00:44:39 | Speaker 1:

That was pretty much it. KP, you know the feeling, right? With six kids in your house?

00:44:39 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. So we would do dollar store white elephant, like legit. Our Christmas gifts would be from the dollar store and I would always go home like, cause my brothers would think, Oh, like these foam rollers would be great for a girl.

00:44:52 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Or when you're a kid and you do white elephant, you do the whole dollar store thing and you'd go home with like a frying pan. Like, what do I need a frying pan for?

00:45:00 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm 12. All right. So check out the More Mojo podcast. Go search More Mojo on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get your podcast. Oh, my gosh. This is a wild story. Spike, you got to tell this about how an act of kindness actually saved your ass.

00:45:16 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I wonder if I would have been in the hospital or something if I had. This is a matter of maybe 15 seconds that could have altered my future. and I'll tell you what happened because when we left work I totally forgot to tell you guys about this yesterday when we left work for the holiday weekend I mean like the rest of you I was just in such a good mood I was so happy and last week I was just like I heard music and birds chirping in my head because I was like oh four-day weekend oh my gosh I'm so excited so on the way home I decided to take my take lunch to my daughter at her job and I just you know let me get my car washed i'm feeling so good and then i waved a guy to pull out in front of me uh you know he was pulling out of a parking lot and i was at a red light so i waved you know go ahead go in front of me so he i let him out in front of me because i'm just having such a good mood and i want to pass along that happy kindness 20 seconds later wham deer runs out in front of his truck causes a huge accident oh my god probably totaled his truck and so like it just smashed it was like fireworks like just deer parts and car parts going everywhere all over the street so he pulls into the median it's on grand river so it's like five lane road so he pulls in the median to get out of traffic's way i pull up kind of behind them but blocking the lane with my hazards on because there's half a deer in the middle of the street and I'm like oh my gosh so I pull over I go up to the side of the car I'm like are you okay dude and he's like yeah I'm fine his airbag went off and here's the funny part that made me laugh he was pissed because he just got home from three days of hunting and he was pissed because he didn't even see a damn deer the whole time he was of course he's telling me so he smashes one with his truck so oh my gosh it was a gruesome scene he was totally fine his truck was not but this deer was i don't even want to describe it this

00:47:15 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 4:

early while people have the kids in the car no please don't i hate i hate when i see no but it

00:47:20 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 3:

was at this point that i realized if i didn't wave him out to pull right in front of me i probably would have hit the deer oh yeah that's right because it was literally the difference i mean this thing ran, like, maybe five, ten seconds difference, I would have been hitting this deer.

00:47:36 - 00:47:40 | Speaker 2:

Do you feel guilty at all, or do you feel lucky? I feel lucky.

00:47:41 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yeah. I was like, maybe I should

00:47:42 - 00:47:49 | Speaker 4:

go buy this. Play this song for real. He's going to play Rudolph. Stop it! Come on.

00:47:49 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 3:

I was wondering what the sad violin was, and then it kicked in. Has this happened to anybody else and just missed being in a big accident, or just missed, you're like, oh my gosh, close call. I would have been dead because I was thinking, like, I was in such a good mood, and I almost, you know, and this was like a 10-point buck.

00:48:08 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 2:

By the way, that's when you double down on your BetMGM app that you use all the time. Yes.

00:48:14 - 00:48:23 | Speaker 3:

I had to pull in and get coffee and, like, just chill for a second because I was, like, so, like, oh, my God, that almost happened to me. Gave the lady a big tip, like, I'm happy to be alive today.

00:48:24 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it's like birds chirping. Everything's going on. You're out there dancing around, and deer are flying and hitting other people.

00:48:32 - 00:48:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it wasn't a good day for the deer.

00:48:34 - 00:48:56 | Speaker 4:

I always feel this way. I don't know if you guys ever have this thought of, like, if I get caught up somewhere or if I accidentally miss my exit or make a wrong turn or, like, get stuck at home and I'm running late. I'm like, this happened for a reason. Like, maybe it saved me from that, like, getting into an accident or hitting a deer or whatever. I watch it on slow motion. It makes me feel better, but I feel like sometimes it's very true.

00:48:56 - 00:48:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah. Morgan, what's up?

00:48:58 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So I was with my family. We were on our way out to dinner, and we missed getting hit by a truck that was hauling a boat that ended up flying up into the air.

00:49:10 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Wow.

00:49:12 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

The boat was one car behind me, and it would have landed on our car.

00:49:18 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 2:

God. You know what? That's fate right there. That's awful for those people that it hit, right?

00:49:24 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure. It was a really bad accident.

00:49:27 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 2:

geez it's crazy it's funny i i when you said that you let the guy go and you're like also nice all i kept thinking to myself was you know what happens to this guy and the you said the deer have you ever waved somebody to go in and then the person ends up getting hit by a car so they oh i won't

00:49:44 - 00:49:49 | Speaker 4:

do that i think that that you're not supposed to do that you could be liable you're like i think so

00:49:49 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 3:

yeah yeah you should never wave just let them look for clear traffic the only time that i've

00:49:55 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

ever waved somebody in i remember this well i've done it a few times but recently

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 7:

Waved somebody in and they took the parking spot The better parking spot at Kroger and I was like pissed

00:50:04 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 5:

Well I waved someone once like go ahead You take it and they must have thought I was doing something else Because they started giving me the finger and they were all mad at me And I'm like I'm waving you on dude What are you angry about

00:50:14 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 7:

Oh this is crazy Emily

00:50:15 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 1:

Hi

00:50:16 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 7:

What happened to you

00:50:17 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 1:

I almost got into a head on collision with a drunk driver

00:50:21 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god What happened

00:50:22 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 1:

Speed limit was 55 it was night time He didn't have his headlights on and he was going the wrong direction, and I saw him at the last second.

00:50:31 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez, yeah, that happened this weekend again on one of our highways here. It's the wrong way, right? Wrong way. After they're drinking too much in the holidays, and they got on the highway going the wrong direction.

00:50:40 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Doreen.

00:50:42 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys.

00:50:43 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 7:

What's going on?

00:50:45 - 00:51:20 | Speaker 3:

So I had something really, really weird happening to me a few years ago. My boyfriend and I were supposed to go to a party down in Ohio in Perrysburg, And we were running late because I started having, like, a panic attack out of nowhere. And I've never had one. Like, it was really bad anxiety. Like, I didn't want to move. I had stomach cramps. And then 15 minutes go by, everything was fine. And so we left, and we passed the car that got in a head-on collision. And the people that were in the car actually died. And that happened 15 minutes. Oh, jeez.

00:51:20 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

00:51:21 - 00:51:21 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's awful.

00:51:22 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I told that story last year. I was driving with some photographer friends to go to Indiana and take some pictures, and Meg was in the car with me. We pulled over to get coffee. The lady spilled it all over when she handed it to me. It all went in my car, and so we had to clean it up. Got back on the highway, and it was probably a 10-minute delay, and there was like a five-car pileup right there at the entrance, and this 18-wheeler crossed over the median into our oncoming traffic, and I thought the same thing. I thought, I wonder if that lady didn't spill the coffee on us.

00:51:52 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 7:

You got car karma.

00:51:53 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 5:

I hope so. This is like between that and this. I must, because I'm a nutso driver, but I've never been in an accident. So it's like. You better knock out. Yeah, why would you say that out loud? Well, you know, I mean, at this point, knock on my head.

00:52:06 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 7:

Nicole, what happened?

00:52:08 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm on the freeway. I'm riding up 96th freeway, heading toward Dearborn. And I'm in this slow lane. It is a pickup truck in front of me with the refrigerator on it. It was really, really, really windy. So I look and I see the refrigerator start flipping off the truck, flying to me. So I'm panicking because on my left, the cars are coming. So I'm trying to hurry up and get over to the left lane. Literally, all I can think about is find a destination. Like, oh, my God.

00:52:38 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 5:

And what happened? Did the fridge hit your car?

00:52:41 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 4:

No, the fridge did not hit my car. Thank God I was able to get there. But when I said I had to pull over and catch it, like, literally, I pissed my pants off.

00:52:50 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. By the way, let me ask you a question. Do you know people that whenever stuff like that happens, like falls off back of trucks, like furniture or, you know, mattresses, refrigerators, they'll stop to go see if it's worthy of grabbing? Like, I know people that will do that. It's like roadside furniture.

00:53:11 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 5:

There's two kinds of people. It's my words for death. Yeah. Some people say, I'm going to church. That was lucky. I just missed it. Other people are going, oh, I'm going to the scrapyard. I'm going to take that freezer with me.

00:53:19 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 7:

00:55:28 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, Hailey Bieber says no, she is not pregnant. No baby on the way for her and Justin. She posted a photo to her Instagram where she's lifting up her sweatshirt to show her torso, her middle section. I don't know how people think that's a baby bump, but okay. She wrote alongside the photo, quote, I have a cyst on my ovary the size of an apple. I don't have endometriosis or PCOS, but I have gotten an ovarian cyst a few times, and it's never fun. She continued, it's painful and achy and makes me feel nauseous and bloated and cramps and emotional. Anyways, I'm sure a lot of you can overly relate and understand we got this. That does not sound fun, but she's not pregnant. Country singer and reality star Jesse James Decker is responding to all of these online trolls and haters who accused her of photoshopping abs onto her kids in a photo that she shared from their family vacation in Mexico over Thanksgiving. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. She captioned a video of her three little ones, being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids, I can't help but laugh or the polar opposite over over training our kids makes me realize how bizarre our world has gotten regarding the body and what's normal and what's not. She wrote, we preach about body positivity and acceptance, but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is weird. So those are her kids' abs, like, for real. Did you see the picture? Yeah, and I saw the video. She said her daughter, Vivi. Spike, have you seen it? Yeah, we were looking at it this morning. Oh, my gosh. I mean, they're ripped. All three of them are ripped, but her daughter, Vivi, does elite competition, like, competitive gymnastics. So she's training all of the time. She's ripped. Eric Jr. plays football, just like his daddy. So he's, like, getting a ton of physical activity. And then their little guy, Forrest, spends hours on end dancing. And, by the way, he's an insane dancer. So that's just naturally, they're lucky.

00:57:27 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, less kids. That's what they look like. That's what happens when you have parents like those guys, good genetics.

00:57:33 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. The World Cup yesterday in Qatar, USMT. Did I say that right? Yes, USMNT. There we go. Oh, my gosh. Our team captain, Tyler Adams, was quizzed by Iranian journalists ahead of the United States' must-win match against Iran. That's happening today. Listen to how this went down.

00:57:53 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 1:

First of all, you say you support the Iranian people, but you're pronouncing our country's name wrong. Our country is named Iran, not Iran. Please, once and for all, let's get this clear. Second of all, are you okay to be representing a country that has so much discrimination against black people in its own borders? And we saw the Black Lives Matter movement over the past few years. Are you okay to be representing the U.S.? mean while there's so much discrimination happening against black people in America?

00:58:26 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 3:

My apologies on the mispronunciation of your country. Yeah, that being said, you know, there's discrimination everywhere you go. You know, one thing that I've learned, especially from living abroad in the past years and having to fit in in different cultures and kind of assimilate into different cultures, is that in the U.S. we're continuing to make progress every single day.

00:58:52 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

00:58:53 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 2:

Good answer. What time is that game today, by the way?

00:58:55 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 3:

One o'clock.

00:58:56 - 00:58:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. There you go, and they got to win.

00:58:58 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

So they are very upset. Iran is very upset because of the picture that was posted on social media of their flag and them saying that the U.S. photoshopped and all this stuff. Their own team wouldn't sing their national anthem. And that's a big story this morning is that the Iranian soccer players are really worried about having to go home and so there's been a lot of people that are saying that the Iranian soccer players are fearful over what might happen going back home after not you know singing the national anthem and and not being happy with what the country has been doing uh with women and I'll tell you what it's it's gonna be interesting I I mean, it's the World Cup. I feel like the World Cup is, you know, they've taken too much out of it. Like, they haven't given the players the ability. Like, the whole taking out the LGBTQ, you know, the flags and the arm bands and stuff.

00:59:59 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

It's just been...

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 5:

It's been so overshadowed by so much controversy.

01:00:03 - 01:00:12 | Speaker 4:

It's unbelievable that, you know, the players, though, these guys are heroes for going there and standing up to their country.

01:00:12 - 01:00:19 | Speaker 6:

But this platform is one that cannot be denied when these voices are never heard. So I feel like it's super important that they're making these statements, too.

01:00:20 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 4:

I mean, how brave are they, though, knowing that their country is, you know, they're the leaders of their country and those people are going to be like looking at them in

01:00:30 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 5:

such a bad way you know so crazy and lastly cardi b being threatened with legal action by an italian artist for recreating some artwork depicting marge simpson wearing a designer dress this was for halloween and if you follow cardi you probably saw it she recreated alexandro palumbo's 2013 work in the form of the Simpsons and in the form of Marge Simpson for an Instagram post. She, Cardi, was dressed as Marge with her back to the camera to show off the cutout bottom of this dress. You can see her booty in it, okay? Well, here's the problem. The original artwork was created by this Italian artist as part of his Marge Simpson style icon series, which transformed Marge into a style icon, which is what Cardi was dressing up as for Halloween. Well, Cardi and her team didn't ask for permission to recreate it, nor did they credit the artist when they made the post on Instagram. So it's actually a violation of intellectual property rights, and she's getting sued for it.

01:01:31 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 3:

For a Halloween costume. For a Halloween costume. Now, if she's selling her photos dressed as Marge Simpson and making a profit on it, I can understand possibly. But it's a reinterpretation of the work, and Halloween is known to be the whole concept of we're mimicking other things, other looks.

01:01:47 - 01:01:51 | Speaker 5:

I think she actually recreated the art.

01:01:51 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I reposted it on my Instagram. I thought she won Halloween. It was so awesome.

01:01:55 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 6:

She also makes money off of her Instagram, so she is profiting off of it. I'm sure, yeah.

01:01:59 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 5:

There's some sort of loophole there.

01:02:01 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 3:

But no one's thinking it's an original dress. They know she's going for, you know, it's Halloween, you're making something it's usually not.

01:02:11 - 01:02:17 | Speaker 6:

But also, if you're going to completely rip off somebody's art, why wouldn't you tag them in it? Or just give them the credit.

01:02:17 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 5:

That's what he really wanted here. Yeah, it was the credit. Also this morning, while we're talking about her, Cardi giving fans an update on how her husband, Offset, is doing since the tragic death of fellow Amigos member Takeoff.

01:02:29 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm sorry. Am I supposed to play, Cliff?

01:02:31 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. I didn't see that you didn't have one. No, no, no.

01:02:33 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 4:

I got it. Hold on. Hold on. Cardi, Cardi, Cardi.

01:02:37 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 3:

While you're looking for it, I apologize to Disney because I once dressed as Harrison Ford from Star Wars and did not give credit to Disney for owning the Harrison Ford costume. Found it.

01:02:46 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 4:

Hold on.

01:02:47 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 1:

No lie, I have been feeling so hopeless, trying to make my husband happy, trying to make him crack a smile. Our hearts have been so heavy. I know that y'all been seeing my Insta stories and y'all see Offset in an hour and everything, seeing him randomly cry, seeing him trying to distract his mind, trying to keep up with work after everything that he's been going through these past couple of weeks.

Another chance for you to win some mistletoe comes up at 8.30 this morning. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. We were so excited yesterday with the big news from Mike. Let me play this for you. So we were having a discussion about Mike's kids, that they were going to go see Santa Claus, and Mike didn't know who was going to get to talk to Santa Claus because only one could talk. Was it going to be Cecily? Was it going to be Milo? and then Mike sprung on us a huge surprise that if you want to watch the video of this, the in-studio video, you can by going to our Instagram, Facebook. Check this out. Here you go. And how did it go? Did it? Well, it did not. It did not go as expected. Yeah. You know what? Actually, I got the picture to show you guys. It went.

01:05:00 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 5:

completely wrong and I I honestly thought it was gonna go a different way cuz we

01:05:05 - 01:05:21 | Speaker 2:

ended up going with the third to give it to our third child and study

01:05:21 - 01:05:27 | Speaker 4:

Michael, will you show the camera, please? Put that in front of your camera. Michael!

01:05:27 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 1:

That is so amazing!

01:05:29 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 4:

Wow! You guys, Mike and Allie.

01:05:32 - 01:05:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God! Michael!

01:05:34 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 4:

I'm so excited. Yes! I'm so excited. Having a baby!

01:05:38 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 5:

Do you want to hear?

01:05:39 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Where'd you make this baby? What event? What Mojo in the Morning event?

01:05:42 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 5:

So it was either at Mojo's Hall of Fame party weekend, or it was camping the following weekend.

01:05:48 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Mike and Allie having a baby and Mike what was the reaction like yesterday from the big announcement

01:05:56 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 5:

well it was all over the place I'm sure you guys I know you guys have experienced this when you tell somebody whether it's good news bad news there's always a range of like reactions like some people are super like you guys were the reaction I loved like that was amazing I am sorry

01:06:10 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 1:

that I sounded like that no don't be at all don't be at all

01:06:15 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 5:

that is my absolute favorite thing in the entire world I love that That's why I wanted to surprise you guys. Like, I love that. There's never over the top with me. But then there's, like, different reactions. Oh, another great one was Matthew Stafford and Kelly Stafford's photographer reached out to me and said that she wants to do a maternity shoot with Allie. Oh, nice. Just super cool stuff. And then yesterday, we're sitting in a meeting, and it gets brought up, like, mid-meeting. And it's like, hey, Tony, our boss, Tony. Hey, did you hear Mike's having a baby? And he just goes, nice. So anyways. He did. Oh, 100%. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And so I send off the topics for yesterday. And he immediately emails me back. Like, immediately. I send that at 901. He's emailed me back at 902. And he goes, there's no way I said that. And I go, yes, you did. And he goes, I must have been distracted. I'm so sorry. And then he gives me this long, like really inspirational, like motivational email. Like, you're, you know, you're a great dad. You're this, this, and this. And we start going back. And I think he feels really, really bad about it. But I was like, dude, there was 8 million things going on. And I think it was just brought up casually. Like, I don't expect you to go. He goes, no, you're going to be a great dad. And I have three and I understand fully. And I was like, it's so funny when at this stage in my life and when you share stuff in general with everybody yeah like there's the reactions are so you know up and down some people were super excited some people were like yeah yeah cool cool cool so anyways uh you know it's

01:07:56 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 4:

funny it's funny sometimes you don't know what your natural you don't know what the reaction is going to be to to something or you don't know how to respond and some people don't have a poker face

01:08:06 - 01:08:11 | Speaker 6:

to like fake excitement instead of thinking what they're really thinking they show it on their face

01:08:11 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 4:

um it's it's funny chelsea and i were joking about this the last funeral that chelsea and i went to one of my friends moms died and chelsea and i go to the funeral and we walk in and uh my friend's uh dad is there and he says to chelsea um how are how are you doing and she goes i'm good how are you at a funeral and she goes oh my god because you're so natural reaction and then the Tony like oh nice like that kind of thing or you'll get the reaction from people like so Mike you're having a baby yeah great you know like that I will say

01:08:46 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 1:

though guys just don't get as excited about these things when the nose is broken to them as girls do and same thing with like engagements you know or like babies being born like I'll always ask you know my friends who are guys like oh what does the ring look like or what was the baby's name

01:09:02 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 6:

And they're like, I don't know.

01:09:04 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 2:

How did you not ask that question?

01:09:06 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 6:

Whenever someone has an engagement party, I'm like, we're having a wedding, aren't we? Do we have to celebrate this twice? What are we doing?

01:09:12 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 3:

But then I hear myself, and literally my vocabulary just went down to one word. And it was just Michael over and over. Not even like a congratulations or I'm so excited. It was just Michael, Michael.

01:09:23 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 5:

That was my favorite thing in the world.

01:09:27 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 4:

The funniest, though, was you, after he said that, you were so excited at the beginning. and then you got very bitter that you didn't know about it.

01:09:35 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm genuinely really mad at Mike today. Like really, really mad. And I love Allie. I love Allie way more than I love Mike. That's not a secret. I'm very mad at her, too.

01:09:49 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

The best, is Craig on there? Because Craig's got a good response for us. Talking about the reaction that you get from people when you.

01:10:00 - 01:10:02 | Speaker 2:

You tell them that you're having a baby. Craig, what was the response?

01:10:04 - 01:10:13 | Speaker 4:

I've got a total of seven. And every time my wife and I would reveal that we're having another one, I've gotten quite often, oh, another one?

01:10:14 - 01:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Like DJ Khaled. Another one. Although seven kids, though, you have to, you know, there's a lot of kids.

01:10:22 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'm done now. There's no more. The term or the phrase, all juice, no seeds now.

01:10:30 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 2:

i've never heard that before why do i kind of love that

01:10:36 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 3:

all juice no seeds yeah that's the greatest sorry yeah well craig i gotta ask you i'm remembering you're a regular car you're a trucker craig so maybe they're hearing your wife complain when you're on the road all the time leaving her with seven kids

01:10:53 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 4:

funny enough i was uh talking to my brother he actually works for ups in livonia and he drives truck now and uh he's working nights and his wife is complaining saying oh you you're living the life because uh you come home you sleep during the day when all the kids are gone at school you don't have the baby bothering you and then you go to work and you're not getting bothered he's like oh i could do what craig's doing and because i drive over the road uh he doesn't deal with

01:11:20 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

anything. Yeah. Leaving town. Thanks, Craig. Kristen, what's up? Nothing. How are you? Good. What was the reaction that you got when you told your friends that you were having a baby?

01:11:31 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 6:

I actually called my youngest sister and she basically told me, don't you have enough children when I was pregnant with my third one? Wow. Wow. I actually no longer talk to her.

01:11:44 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 2:

how many kids do you have i have three boys oh geez wow that's amazing all right wait well real quick though fair question does she babysit for you or something like is she like this is responsibility falling her to help watch the kids no she actually lives in pennsylvania where

01:12:03 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 6:

i'm from oh it's okay and she only has met my oldest son one time she's never met any of my

01:12:09 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 2:

other kids and does she have a struggle having kids because that also could be no she actually

01:12:14 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 6:

just got married this past october she's only um 25 all right i'm just trying to see why she

01:12:19 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 5:

would be so bitter uh marky what's happening uh hi uh i'm at the age i'm 26 where if my friend were to call me and say that they're pregnant i don't know am i excited for them true do i got to drive you somewhere like what are we doing like no i don't know what level i'm supposed to

01:12:40 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 3:

be at because like well you have to read how they tell you right are they like oh my gosh i'm pregnant or they i'm pregnant yeah yeah what i would never respond with still is nice

01:12:52 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 2:

the voice of the red wings ken daniels is going to be uh with us he's going to be on uh on the air with us in just a matter of moments matter of fact ken gonna be in studio with us right we got an in-studio guest i love it i want the guy's got the greatest voice in the world and he makes he made the ken will you hang out for a second come on in come on in for a second this is unbelievable this guy right here this guy can make me excited about anything and i don't know how he does it even during the worst of the worst red wings years i would get excited just listening uh we're gonna do a senseless survey and then ken's gonna be in with us he's got something cool that's going on a very cool event that he's doing uh in honor of his uh son and uh an amazing story so spike let's see how many questions you can get out it's time for an

01:13:46 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 1:

official government survey this mojo in the morning senseless survey

01:13:51 - 01:14:13 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Ann. It's Mr. Bob Dabalina from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. How are you doing this morning? I'm great. And you? I'm doing pretty good. We just have this 30-second survey that we do for the government. It's the senseless.

01:14:13 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 8:

Uh-huh.

01:14:14 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 3:

We just have three questions. It takes about 30 seconds. Just asking, how would you tell if someone replaced your I can't believe it's not butter with real butter?

01:14:22 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 7:

How would I react?

01:14:24 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 3:

How would you know if they replaced your butter? Oh, you wouldn't. You wouldn't know? Okay. No. Do you think we can guess who's Destiny's favorite child ended up being yet?

01:14:34 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 7:

No, but I've had, I've got, I'm at work and I need to go to work.

01:14:39 - 01:14:48 | Speaker 3:

So if a small iPad is called a mini, does that make the old one a maxi iPad? No. And what if oxygen makes our voice really deep?

01:14:48 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 7:

Okay, I'm through now. Okay, well I'm not through yet.

01:14:52 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 3:

I just have this last question. I didn't get too many done with this one.

01:14:58 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

I could talk to her forever, couldn't you?

01:15:00 - 01:15:06 | Speaker 1:

Hello. It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey. Because we love America.

01:15:06 - 01:15:13 | Unknown:

What's up? What's up? What's up? What's up? Make some noise. Make some noise. Make some noise.

01:15:13 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 3:

For Mojo, Mike Shannon. For Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:20 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning show. I get nervous when, like, fellow broadcasters come into the studio. Professionals. But I get nervous when, you know, Hall of Famers come in here. Like, this guy, by the way, is the voice of voices. And I know how good he is because when I watch a game and my 17-year-old son says to me all the time, the best announcer in the NHL. You got 17-year-olds. like younger the younger generation that still love you in studio with us this morning is the voice of the red wings ken daniels is with us guys give it up for ken by the ways do people ask you all the time where mickey is or is mickey with you like do people do that because i get that sometimes where people will say is if i'm out somewhere they'll say is spike with you or shannon with you or something like that do people all the time do they yeah so some places i go they

01:16:20 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 3:

should know he shouldn't be there because you know he's got celiac and he's not eating in a restaurant yeah i'll you know mickey and i both have this thing where where people say if they come up to mic and they say where's ken or if people come to me where's mic we both say oh he's around here

01:16:34 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 2:

somewhere at least we're at the event even if we're not there wow yeah i listen to that voice of yours and i i can hear the tingles the gravel and after after a great game like after a really exciting you know maybe an overtime game do you even go home with a voice oh yeah yeah yeah do you

01:16:57 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 3:

do you never lose your voice at all uh no i was actually because what's been going around i guess about two weeks ago we're on the west coast trip and i thought oh boy i'm gonna i'm gonna lose it now then my brother just sent me something last night about this honey you can buy online i can't remember the name of it but crap for 34 a jar i hope it works but i just ordered it on amazon and we'll see he said oh it's great so i said okay but no generally i've been knockwood pretty lucky

01:17:23 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 2:

you know who turned me on something recently dan miller turned me on same thing that that voice it was a spray that he turned me on to that that helped me out it's a spray like when you're about to lose your voice i got it from monty our our uh our good pharmacist of course everyone knows no monty monty's the greatest yeah but but uh dan heard heard me talking and heard my voice kind of going raspy and he sent me a text and told me to go get her. Singers something. Yes.

01:17:50 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 3:

Everybody uses it. You know what's funny? I was at 12 and Telegraph. And I went to go into the convenience store where the gas station is and I walk in. There's Monty. And a minute later, in walks Mickey. We're all in Carhartt standing in the convenience store and there's Monty. I introduce him to Mickey and then Mickey's now

01:18:14 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 1:

see and monty it's just monty's the best we have a ken ken and i have a history uh that he might not even be aware but we both moved to michigan the same week in 1997 and so and so i think we both are responsible for bringing the stanley cups back to michigan that's it that's right i was here for the second one this was the uh you know when you started announcing so you didn't announce the

01:18:37 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 3:

first the 97 okay no i was with hockey night in canada and then uh applied for the job in may And then the tragic limo accident happened, and I had already come down and interviewed with Atanas Illich at the time, and Pass was becoming Fox Sports, which is now Bali. And I interviewed, and then the limo accident happened, and I said, boy, this is going to be a while. I was the least of their worries. And I really didn't sign until September. Wow.

01:19:03 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

I'll tell you the best. This speaks to the character here of this man in this room, because I remember the 2008 Stanley Cup playoffs. and you filled in for Ken Cowell, who does the radio announcing but had laryngitis. He sounds a little like I do right now. We've got to get that spray for him. So we get to game six. It comes to the end of the game, and the Red Wings are about to seal the deal. Ken takes off his headphones, hands them to Ken Cowell, who has laryngitis. He says, you've got to wrap this up. You've got to make the final call and send the Wings into Stanley Cup World. Like he actually, it's so selfless because very few times in a career of an announcer, do you get to do something so momentous that's going to be replayed again and again and again throughout history of sports. And he handed the headphones back like, no, this is your job. You got it. And so Ken Cal did it with like the last 10 seconds. He mustered up enough voice to be able to make that call. You remember that well, Spike.

01:19:59 - 01:21:02 | Speaker 3:

And you know what? And during the – there was a timeout, and I took my headset off, and I kept talking to Ken, you've got to do it. And he said, no, I don't. And I said, suck it up. You can do it. You can do the final seconds. Just do it. And he didn't want to because he was beside me handing me the cards for radio read because I only flew down with the wives and the families. The Illiches had a private plane, so we flew down to Pittsburgh at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. And I didn't really get there until about 6 o'clock before the game, and I called it with Paul Woods on the radio and I had to convince Ken to do it, but I'm glad he did. It wasn't my place to call that, but you're right. We, because now we, well, hopefully we're back in the playoffs at some point sooner than later, but television only does the first round. We used to do two and then the network takes over. I've been fortunate when NBC was around that I was doing some network games for them in the playoffs, but yeah, we only get to do one round. So it was just fun for me to be part. That was when Zetterberg put it off Marc-Andre Fleury's ass. yeah oh so great so good i remember well those were uh fun times and um you know we'll we'll

01:21:02 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 2:

get back could you do me a favor because you have such a iconic uh you know uh call can you teach shannon oh god how to call a goal like give give her like how you would call it and then shannon has to do the imitation of you this is okay oh my goodness now you're putting putting me on the spot.

01:21:23 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 3:

Who do you want to have call it? Last night there was just a scramble in front.

01:21:30 - 01:21:39 | Speaker 2:

A classic. Boy, I don't know. You can do a classic, Shannon, where it's an Iserman goal or you can do a current. I don't even know what the heck you're talking about. Make it like a Larkin goal. Let's just say

01:21:39 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 3:

there's a shot from the point and there's a scramble in front. The puck rims around in behind the net. Larkin's got it. Throws it back to the line to Sider. Sider wrists one toward the goal. Scramble in front. They score! They bang it in. right in front of the goal, Larkin.

01:21:53 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 1:

Scrambled in front, and they score! They bang it right in front. I don't know. Hacking people!

01:22:02 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 3:

You know, it's funny. That's what she said. You did great. And people will ask me, because I'm on Cameo, and people reach out to me on Cameo to try to do a call, and it's got to be, for me, you've just got to feel it, and it's got to be live. You know what? I'm not good at faking it. Where do you do the cameos in your house? I do them everywhere. Some people want them at Little Caesars. Oh, really? From the gondola. Oh, that's awesome. The money we send to the Jamie Daniels Foundation. Oh, that is amazing. Do them at Little Caesars, sometimes unsuspecting to both Mick and Ozzy when we're on the road. I'll be saying happy birthday to Art from son Dan, and I'll turn the phone around, and I go, Mick, say happy birthday to Art. And he'll say happy birthday to Art, so you never know what you're going to get.

01:22:45 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 2:

That's how I should have done the baby announcement. Oh, my God. Mike just found out that he's having a baby Let's just say a few months ago He pulled the goalie Such a dad joke but a good one Hold on a second We've got to have audio with us Ken Daniels has to say Mike just Would it be Allie pulling the goalie right Allie just pulled the goalie And Mike scores and wins Allie just pulled the goalie Mike scores and he's a winner oh my god i have to first off ken daniel's with us right now i have to talk about this because this is such a big event um but i also need to talk about this because you suffered the worst thing that a parent could ever suffer when you lost your son jamie and i i felt for you as a father of boys and i felt for you as a parent fearful of your kids you know having um having you know the this fentanyl stuff that's going on right now scares the bejesus out of me with my boys i talk to them all the time like guys you gotta you can't you know i know you're gonna want to experiment you're gonna want to have fun you're gonna want to do stuff but there's this is crazy world right now and we first off just give a background on on what Jamie your son was uh was

01:24:14 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 3:

like as a as a young man oh he's a wonderful kid he was precocious and uh loved to laugh and when he started laughing and best friends with his sister Arlen and um you know I I talked to Jamie after every game even going through his struggles I mean he changed obviously because opioids just change the the chemical receptors in your brain and and you're not who you think you are and and when you become an addict as much as you want to stop you can't and we saw jamie change until you know finally he said you know dad i need to go to rehab but as a family we we kept it quiet but he he went to florida and maybe we shouldn't have and and we're learning now that you know the the stigma around addiction.

01:25:00 - 01:27:57 | Speaker 1:

reclude recovery and we we need to talk about it and make it public but uh jamie even in his time in florida and went through detox which is the most painful thing anyone can go through whether you're an alcoholic whether you're a user of drugs we call it substance use disorder now to go through a painful detox of at least 30 days um it's the worst type of flu and struggle you could have where you just want to die at that point and if you don't have help doing it that's where the brain says i can't go through this i need to use to feel better and you can't help yourself even if you want to stop where the reagan said back in the 80s say no to drugs no you can't because the brain won't let you the brain says i can't feel like this i need to use and that's what happens but you know when jamie was in florida went through the detox was working for a law firm in florida and then he got patient brokered and the espne 60 did a great piece on that there's a movie on amazon prime called body brokers which you can watch i haven't had the heart to watch it yet where just the greedy side of the recovery business gets involved and they want the cycle to continue because they built the insurance industry so they find kids with good insurance they send you to a home that's anything but sober jamie thought boy i'm good now dad 228 days in sobriety uh he was paying three weeks of his own rent at a place he was living and he was working at a law firm he thought he could save money some kid patient brokered him for 50 a month come live in this house they go to that house and that house sends you to their doctor who prescribed you something and their doctor prescribed jamie xanax which he shouldn't have been on xanax jamie felt better about himself and they would do blood tests that were unnecessary and they send those blood tests uh out to labs and the labs built the insurance industry so we were getting bills for more than 60 000 some people get bills for more than millions and as it turns out in the end that night we were in Winnipeg and I'll never forget and Jamie and I spoke after every game excuse me after every game and I talked to Jamie one night and he said Dad I painted the wheels of my car black and I said oh no you didn't and he said yeah you're going to love it I'll take a picture in the morning because it's too dark now but when I spoke to him he said boy you guys had a bad game and I said no we didn't we won he said well I saw the first period you're awful I said, that we were, we're in Winnipeg, but we won the game in the end. He said, okay, I was outside painting the wheels, but I'll send you a picture in the morning. And unfortunately, Jamie never woke up. Someone in that house gave him a pill that was laced with fentanyl. Now, should he have known not to take the pill? 100%. But when that doctor put him on Xanax and feeling better about himself, should have known not to take it, but also didn't know it was laced with fentanyl. And Jamie was in his bed that night, and the kid who patient-brokered him in that house uh left him there to die and they waited over an hour to call police um who then called the

01:27:57 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 1:

birmingham police department and many friends i have in the birmingham police department came in and told me that morning so that was the last time i spoke to oh my god that call was that night and

01:28:07 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 2:

then uh he passed on uh early december of 2016 december 7th ken in december 16 in december of 2016 you didn't even hear much about fentanyl at all that was not a thing and now it's just pouring into our country and these kids are getting yeah getting i we i have a very good friend who lost his uh son um and by all accounts the parents don't know for sure but they by all accounts they believe that he he you know took you know uh a pill from a friend and it was laced with fentanyl and he died and and he's known as a drug addict now and that was his first time

01:28:50 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

trying a drug trying a drug yeah and they disguise him as skittles now i mean even knowing the candy and that's how bad it is uh not only in this country but in canada too and you can't trust anything and not only that i mean when jamie was at michigan state he was turned on opioids by a friend of his in his freshman year who said hey you know when the doctor prescribed the pills they can't be bad you get high and kids get high and they try to within five days jamie was addicted wow um you know five days that's how five days is how quick it happens because everyone's different everyone's brain is different um you know someone else in a family can try it and another you know brother sister does it and and there's just too many pills in in parents homes now grandparents homes now grand your grandfather had uh you know knee surgery 10 years ago and the pills are still sitting there. Get rid of them. There's a way to dispose of them safely. Don't flush them down the toilet. Lake Superior, there's a big problem even in the water system where people just flush them in the toilet. There are Deterra pouches, which we're giving away at our breakfast on Thursday morning, just to safe disposal. If you have prescription drugs in your home, you

01:30:00 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 2:

You wouldn't leave a loaded gun in your home where kids can find it. And believe me, and I know Jamie's friends did this, they would go to friends' homes and search the parents' medicine cabinets to find the drugs and get them out of there. They're too readily available.

01:30:14 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 3:

Can you turn this tragedy into, right now, a foundation that is unbelievable. I don't even know what the exact number is of what the Jamie Daniels Foundation has uh has done as far as you know raising money and awareness three millions holy cow it's awesome god you know how proud jamie must be of here we know well and and just the simple fact of what

01:30:38 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 1:

you went back to we got to focus on the prevention the recovery and then most importantly i think and this is why i do the families against narcotics work is the stigma that's attached to it and in reducing that attitude people have about, oh, he's an addict or he's a junkie, instead of saying, this is a loved one who so quickly fell into the wrong thing and needs help. Like any other medical condition, we would want to instantly throw anything to help someone recover from an

01:31:10 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 3:

illness. This is an illness. Ken Daniels is in with us right now, the voice of the Red Wings. The Jamie Daniels Foundation raises money that has done some amazing things. We tell just real quick with the amazing things the foundation has now done with the million plus dollars and more

01:31:25 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 2:

that you're raising? Well, currently, we support collegiate recovery programs at nine colleges and universities across the state of Michigan. We provide access, Spike was saying, to support and resources for more than 170,000 students. And these programs range from peer-to-peer counseling, certified therapists, administrator training, sober living, and dedicated meeting space, a full range of support. There's a sober dome. There is such a thing as sober tailgating. You can still have fun. You can still be with people. You can still feel the community. Another recovery initiative we are very excited about is the brand new Adolescent Addiction Recovery Center that opened just a few weeks ago in Troy, Michigan. Dr. Matt LaCasse, a wonderful psychiatrist children's hospital of michigan so we uh we promote the family counseling there because there's also there's dual diagnosis you can be addictive but you may also have depression problems there are other issues that could come aboard so this is unique because it focuses solely on the needs of children of teens young adults and we're making sure that everyone is welcome um regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay and and that's in the the colorful Children's Hospital of Michigan building in Troy. Wow.

01:32:41 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 3:

So there's a couple of things going on. One, Ken and the Jamie Daniels Foundation has a cool event that's happening on Thursday that we're going to talk about, but also a website where you can actually, from the comfort of your home or car or wherever you are, log online to jamiedanielsfoundation.org and bid on some of the most incredible things that you'd never get a chance to actually do. Experiences and cool opportunities. And I know we donated stuff with our Jingle Ball that's coming up and also in-studio hang out with Mojo in the morning. You get to actually be here and be part of the show. And it's fun, by the way. I'm here. I know, exactly. It's fun. Maybe you'll even get to do a play-by-play call like Shannon.

01:33:25 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 2:

I might have to bet on this again.

01:33:26 - 01:33:39 | Speaker 3:

Maybe you'll actually get to do that. But here's the thing. You also have some really cool stuff that was donated by other people. And then Thursday, you and Mick are getting together with a whole bunch of superstars. You want to talk about that? Sure do.

01:33:39 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

With Chris Osgood and Chris Draper. And the neat thing is we have referee Wes McCauley, who's going to work the game Wednesday night here against Buffalo. We don't have it. It's on TNT. So Wes is going to stay over. The NHL was kind enough to give us referee Wes McCauley. And he's very animated. I don't know if you've ever seen Wes. Five minutes for fighting. He's just wonderful. and his dad was just a great referee and Wes followed in his footsteps. So Wes McCauley and Dan O'Holloran, long time referee, is now an NHL supervisor. And we got the refs involved because Mickey's always on the refs. Always. And I grew up refereeing. I put myself through college and bought my first car with money in Toronto when I was refereeing. What do they think when they see Mickey? Do they get pissed or no? I go in and see him before the game. Tell Mick to go easy on us. They love him. Mick always says, I'm not on the refs. I'm on the way that Toronto and New York and big Toronto, New York, where the main offices are, the way they want the game called. Because Mick will say, that's not a hook, that's a crappy call. But the referees are being told to call what the mandate is from the league. So Mickie's not so much on them. They really love him. But the refs all get the videos of the game sent to them. After the game, they miss a call or something happens, so they'll hear it. They know what we say, and they'll come back to me with comments. I try to go down every few weeks.

01:35:00 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 3:

games in the ref's room and i shoot the crap with them before the game because i love them and i know the tough job that they have so i decided to get the refs involved with that's

01:35:07 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

cool i like that so what are some of the cool items that people can bid on that that are on jamiedanielsfoundation.org or you have an opportunity to go in person at motor city casino right uh on thursday it's happening in the morning registration at 7 30 in the morning on thursday program begins at 8 a.m and you'll be able to be there and hang out with all those uh

01:35:29 - 01:36:32 | Speaker 3:

these superstars we have a live auction there's only only two live auctions one of them is to join me at a morning skate for a red wing game to be determined oh wow another one is we have a suite for 16 for march 18th which happens to be my birthday but it's a colorado avalanche are in town and we have a suite for 16 with food for that game that'll be a live auction item but silent auction items we have dylan larkin and tyler batuzzi game use sticks courtesy of the red wings A Moe Sider signed home red jersey, courtesy of the Red Wings. Austin Matthews signed Leaf jersey. I don't know how many want to bid now after last night. However, Guy Lafleur, one of the greatest players in NHL history, has signed Guy Lafleur, a red Montreal Canadiens jersey. Sidney Crosby, a game you stick. Herman Moore and Barry Sanders. Can I buy the Sidney Crosby game you stick and burn it? Shove it up his ass. You can if you'd like. But Tony Travato and iHeartRadio, you guys were so wonderful. Ashawn Mendes signed guitar, a studio visit with you, as you say, at Jingle Ball for next Tuesday.

01:36:32 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, even if you're not a hockey fan and you just want to support the cause, there's great stuff on there like, hey, how about going up golf day at Grand Traverse Resort? There's some great items on there.

01:36:41 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 3:

And Miguel Cabrero just said it's going to be his last year. We have his 500. You know, he signed John Yu at Pro Sports Zone in Livonia. They gave us a lot of stuff too. Mike Tyson signed boxing gloves.

01:36:52 - 01:37:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, Shannon, we've got to get that for you. She loves Mike Tyson. Do you? Oh, yeah. That's pretty cool. She does a great Mike Tyson impersonation. No, I am not. I already had to call.

01:37:00 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 1:

Do that call. No, I am not. I already embarrassed myself once in front of him. I'm good. No, you didn't embarrass him. You're great. I'm good.

01:37:07 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 2:

No, you didn't. You embarrassed all of us. So jamiedanielsfoundation.org, if you can't go to the event in the morning, you can still go to the silent auction right now.

01:37:17 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 3:

The silent auction, by the way, will be live until 945 Thursday morning when the event's going to wrap up. So if you're on your phone, it's easy. You can bid until 945 on Thursday morning. Buddy, you got me teared up.

01:37:30 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm thinking of, first off, I'm looking at pictures of Jamie right now on my computer. He was a cute kid. He was a beautiful young man. And I don't know how you do it.

01:37:41 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 3:

I don't either. Honestly, thank you for that, and I don't either. And people ask me, and everyone grieves in their own way. I don't know. Some days I'll just start to cry, and it's a Jamie day. And his mom and my daughter, Arlen, will think the same way. But she's wonderful about it. We like to keep the good memories. And what we're doing now, that's all you can do. You sink or swim. You're saving lives in memory of your son.

01:38:04 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 4:

I think so.

01:38:04 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 3:

I think so.

01:38:05 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 4:

The unbelievable Ken Daniels in studio with Mojo in the Morning. What a day. What a day.

01:38:12 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for having me. And our love to Mickey.

01:38:14 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we love you so much, buddy. All right, Mojo in the Morning show. So, Megan, you did not know that this man had a romantic bone in his body?

01:38:23 - 01:39:13 | Speaker 1:

No. A really good family friend of mine decided this past weekend to get engaged. And I truly thought this man would propose sitting on a couch playing a video game. You know what I'm saying? Like, not a romantic bone in this dude's body. And I was blown away by how much effort and how great his proposal was. He took his, now, fiancé, not to spoil it for the ending. She did say yes. But you can't say fiancé. You have to say fiancé. Yes. Yes. There's fiancé. Wow, fancy. He has a fiancé. We would leave. He took her to the Toledo Zoo and had one of the elephants, like, hold up a sign, I guess. Come on, you can do that?

01:39:14 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 4:

How can you do that?

01:39:16 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 1:

He put in effort, you guys. I didn't know you could do this, but he reached out to the right people. And they had this cute little moment, and it was just the two of them, I think, at the zoo. But then afterwards, he was like, hey, let's go back to the place where we had our first date, because it was on their anniversary. And when they went to the place where they had their first date, all of their friends, their family, everybody was waiting to have this party for them. And he set everything up as a surprise party for her. And I was just like so happy for them until I realized, why do guys only do one romantic thing in their life? And that is set up a proposal. And then they're like, and I'm done.

01:39:55 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 4:

And then we're done.

01:39:56 - 01:39:57 | Unknown:

I'm done.

01:39:58 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 4:

Because that's all we do.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 2:

got I don't understand you guys like that kind of thing is literally what

01:40:06 - 01:40:12 | Speaker 1:

every girl wants if we gave it to you so often it wouldn't be special that is a

01:40:12 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 2:

not true at all how often can you have an elephant hold something yeah by the

01:40:24 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 1:

way if you talk to my wife I didn't she didn't even get one mine was I rolled over drunk after a bar night gig that I did and I said do you want to get married and that was it actually an elephant rolled over

01:40:37 - 01:40:40 | Speaker 2:

shut up

01:40:40 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 1:

that's pretty amazing by the way that is alright so okay so here's the question to our listeners out there do you want that you want your guy to be that romantic all the time like do you want that or

01:40:56 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 2:

I didn't say all the time I literally said once a year.

01:41:00 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 3:

They're setting the bar really low and attainable.

01:41:03 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 1:

Who has the romantic guy that does that stuff, that plans that stuff? When I see some of these guys that do stuff like that, these over-the-top things, I believe the woman had to be part of it because there's no way a guy thought of all that stuff by himself. I look at that when I see a proposal.

01:41:22 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 3:

Shannon's giggling because I bet you Wes is that guy.

01:41:24 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 4:

He is way more romantic than I am. way more creative and way more romantic and it actually almost like pisses me off sometimes because in every relationship i've ever been in i've been the better one about that stuff and he trumps me so far like imagine being angry that he's thoughtful i mean not really but he just he's so good at it but that is that's just him do his guy friends hate him for that because other

01:41:52 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 1:

because if you're friends with a guy like that don't hate showing us showing you up yeah but You don't want to put the effort into it unless he was going to help you plan it.

01:41:59 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 4:

Did you see the brown bag that's in the fridge this morning? No. I had to turn it because I'm like, they're going to roast me if they see this. What did he do? He packed me snacks. Hold on. It says, Shannon, snacks on it. Wait a second.

01:42:12 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 1:

KP, can you run? I ate a lot of it. She's grabbing a phone call. Run in and grab that brown bag in there. And we've got to show this on the video right now. He does stuff like that all the time. There's a brown bag that says Shannon snacks.

01:42:26 - 01:42:29 | Speaker 4:

He warmed up my car and he had a coffee in there. Hold on, KP.

01:42:30 - 01:42:38 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, because you said you were dating. He would get up and make you food and coffee and stuff. Does he still do that now? He did. He did. Wow.

01:42:38 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask you a question?

01:42:40 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 3:

What?

01:42:40 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 2:

Me? What do you like to be happy? What does it feel like to be in a warm embrace of another human being?

01:42:50 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, let's see it. Show it to the camera. Let me see it. Let's see what we got here. Well, I ate most of it. Oh, my God. That's his writing, too? Is there a little post-it note inside? He's got pretty writing, too. Look at that. Wow, look at that. Let's see what snacks we got.

01:43:05 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 4:

I already ate most of them. What's in there? Oh, great.

01:43:08 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 1:

This is romance right here. A liquid yogurt.

01:43:12 - 01:43:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this was in there, and then he made zucchini muffins. That was in there. Oh, my God. Wow.

01:43:16 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 1:

And then there were some Starbucks cookies. Why do we hate him so much, Megan?

01:43:20 - 01:43:24 | Speaker 2:

Because he's thoughtful and nice, and it's not what I have, and I'm jealous.

01:43:25 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

and if this is very sweet if honestly it's too healthy by the way there's if there were it's it's funny because i i think that there are times that i have a little bit of romance in me and then there are times where i just realize it's just so easier just to buy a gift or something like that you know like it's just easier just to go to the mall and are you a card are you like a card writer um chelsea loves homemade cards and so occasionally i'll get construction paper and you know markers and stuff like that and pull something out and do it like that but and chelsea's also really big on cards that have like an inside joke meaning yeah like if you find like a really funny card because i'm the person that walks into like a card store or whatever and just goes and picks the first thing or in the kroger aisle goes down and just grabs like the first thing for your wife funny for your wife you know stuff like that that's usually all she's gonna end up getting but uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text tears at 95500 are saying that uh they want to know they want to know if there is any guy that can call us up that would do this because they said their spouse has no romance at all. Another one here. It's 210 on text.

01:45:00 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 4:

Said, I say my guy is romantic at least once a year, but it's always because he wants to end up baking cookies right afterwards. Isn't that kind of funny? That's like, that's the thing. If I did something out of the norm like this, pack Chelsea a bag, she'd be like, you want something.

01:45:19 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 5:

She would know right away if that happens. Change of pattern in your behavior.

01:45:24 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 4:

I think that that's pretty cool, by the way, to do. Like, I would love, going back to what Megan did Elephants No, could you imagine if you could actually have the elephant Hold up the sign, like Love Actually

01:45:37 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god, Timmy, you are perfect

01:45:38 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 4:

It's the best scene And have them actually We talked about that yesterday That great scene from that movie What's up, Kat?

01:45:48 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 1:

Hi, how you doing?

01:45:49 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

Good, what's going on?

01:45:51 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 1:

So, the most romantic thing I think, and this is so corny Is one day I was stuck in traffic in a car with no AC while on my period I called my ex-husband and I'm griping about everything and when I get home as soon as I open the door he's sitting there with a glass of ice cold water and a bottle of Advil. Now that's romance right there. You know what? It's thoughtful. Isn't it? That made you feel good. It made me crack up you know because I'm sitting there and I'm just cursing out everything and as soon as I he sat there with a big smile on his face and as soon as I opened the door I saw that and I just saw it laughing.

01:46:23 - 01:46:36 | Speaker 4:

That's actually interesting because honestly I would probably say that That, you know, was like the nicest thing to think about because there are days where I will have Chelsea's drink waiting for her when she comes home and I know she's had like a really tough day. That's a big thing.

01:46:36 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 1:

One evening later, he served me a beer.

01:46:38 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 4:

Ah, isn't it beautiful? What's that guy's name?

01:46:42 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 1:

Shout out to DJ Bett.

01:46:44 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 4:

DJ Bett. We love you. Thank you. What's up, Aiden?

01:46:48 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

01:46:49 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 4:

Hey, buddy. Are you a romantic guy?

01:46:51 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and all my boys hate me for it.

01:46:53 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really?

01:46:54 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 5:

Just an example.

01:46:55 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 3:

What do you do?

01:46:55 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 5:

um like last month i bought my girl a car bought my wife a car and i she knew like you know she wanted the car i told her we couldn't afford it so you know we were looking at other cars i ended up buying the car parking it down the street and waiting like an hour till she got home told her something was wrong with my car came out and her car was already there me and my son had walked

01:47:15 - 01:47:31 | Speaker 4:

down the street and parked the car that's that's great i always see these commercials at christmas time you know what i'm talking about with the big red bow on the on the cars and i was like they do those commercials every year does anybody actually do that does anybody actually go my wife would

01:47:31 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 5:

kill me if i showed up with a car without talking to her right right why did we talk about this you

01:47:36 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 2:

just went and bought a car yeah and where do you get that big red bow i really want to know

01:47:42 - 01:47:49 | Speaker 4:

you have to make them yeah okay i think some of the dealerships actually will have like one or two What's up, Matt?

01:47:50 - 01:47:54 | Speaker 5:

Hey, me and my girlfriend's romance. Hey, you want to play Call of Duty?

01:47:55 - 01:47:56 | Unknown:

Wow.

01:47:57 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 4:

You got a girl there. Keep her, man. That's a good one. All right, take care.

01:48:03 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 3:

Dear Shannon, I love you. I can't believe how much I'm not sick of you. Love, Deep Voice Guy. On Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:48:16 - 01:48:18 | Speaker 4:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour is dirty on the 30th.

01:48:18 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Well, I have two different Kardashian stories to tell you about. Both of them funny because Kylie and Khloe are both getting just roasted on social media right now. I'll start with Kylie. Did you guys see her humongous Christmas tree? Yes. Okay. Jesus. It is two stories high, and she hired a staff to decorate this thing, okay? So she posts a photo, and I'm thinking, oh, I cannot wait to read the comments. People were posting stuff like, Kylie's tree is the size of my crib. It's beginning to look a lot like greed mess. I mean, just, are you looking at it right now? Are you doing something else? It's huge. It's absolutely huge. And again, hired a staff to decorate her Christmas tree.

01:48:59 - 01:49:03 | Speaker 4:

How do you get that in the house? I have no idea.

01:49:03 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea. And then Chloe. Well, you have a front door as big as theirs. Yeah, that's true. That's true. Chloe is getting trolled over a strange new Instagram ad in which she stars. She posted a video that shows her playing with this, like, reflex boxing ball called the Box Bullen. Oh, my God. Scott Disick did, too. It's so weird. It's so weird. And I wish I could have pulled the audio, but I didn't have time because we had Ken in here. But she's, you know, she's like, oh, you don't want to miss out on this. This is a holiday must-have. Well, her followers immediately flocked to the comment section, and they were like, why in the heck did she accept to do this ad in the first place? She's worth $60 million. She clearly, like, has never touched this thing in her entire life. She just wanted the check, is basically what the comment said. Not the first time a member of the Kardashian family has been scrutinized for a cringy brand deal, by the way. Do you remember?

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 7:

Megan when Kim pretended to cook in that Beyond Meat ad that she did.

01:50:04 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, and when she would eat it but didn't really chew it. But didn't really chew it. And people were like, and you have a chef? Like, you're not cooking your own food in an air fryer, okay? And then the ads turned to, my kids eat these chicken nuggets. It was so funny.

01:50:17 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 7:

It was great, yeah. Will Smith realizing some people might not be ready or even willing to see his new movie, Emancipation, after that slap that happened at the Oscars earlier this year?

01:50:29 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 2:

You know, I completely understand that. If someone is not ready, I would absolutely respect that and allow them their space to not be ready. My deepest concern is my team. My deepest hope is that my actions don't penalize my team.

01:50:49 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 7:

He also talked about The Slap on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah last night.

01:50:53 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 2:

You just never know what somebody's going through And I was going through something that night You know And not that that You know justifies my behavior at all I would just say you know you're asking what did I learn And it's that We just got to be nice to each other Man you know it's like You know it's like I understood the idea

01:51:17 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 3:

He seemed so awkward during the interview I was watching a good portion of it

01:51:21 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 7:

His movie, Emancipation, the one that he's been promoting, is out on December 9th.

01:51:26 - 01:51:28 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be interesting to see people who go see it.

01:51:29 - 01:51:42 | Speaker 5:

It's also none of my business. If you're going through something that's not public knowledge, we're not entitled to know that information. But wasn't he also having one of the biggest nights of his life? He was nominated for these huge awards, successful movie.

01:51:43 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 7:

I'm so curious what was so negative. Well, maybe it was something in his personal life. Definitely, definitely, definitely. the slap but it's so funny that you say that like it was the biggest night of his life because I don't even remember any of that all I remember from this year's Oscars is that he smacked Chris Rock right you know yeah and lastly Jennifer Lopez opening up about her painful split back in the day from her now husband Ben Affleck she opened up about her new album which I told you yesterday is happening in 2023 it's called This Is Me Now which is going to be a follow up to her 2002 album this is me then which she wrote and recorded when she and ben were together 20 years ago i fell in

01:52:24 - 01:52:34 | Speaker 1:

love with the love of my life and i was working on an album and it was called this is me then and it was all about capturing that moment in time i was the most inspired that i have not made

01:52:34 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 7:

another record like that since then yeah she actually said after they ended their engagement in 2004 she thought she was gonna die she never thought she was gonna be able to perform songs from that album anymore and then then came back into her life again but now 20 years later it does

01:52:50 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 1:

have a happy ending i was like it's time for me to make another record and the reason we're here is because i want to capture this moment in time because it is even better than the first time

01:53:00 - 01:53:06 | Speaker 7:

still no release date just 2023 new music are people clamoring for jennifer lopez music

01:53:06 - 01:53:10 | Speaker 3:

You know, it's like Katy Perry music, you know what I mean?

01:53:11 - 01:53:17 | Speaker 6:

I want an old album. Just like I want old Katy Perry back, I want an old Jennifer Lopez back.

01:53:17 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 3:

Like Madonna, too, was like that, too.

01:53:19 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 4:

Mojo's Mistledoe. Now, you won today with us. Everybody else, listen tomorrow morning at 730 and 830. Or do us a favor, keep the radio on Detroit's Channel 955 for a chance to win. It's all brought to you by the Ideal U Health Center. And throughout the day on 955, they will have opportunities for you to win. We will be right back.

01:54:51 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 6:

More Mojo in minutes. Yep, 2022 can suck it in a lot of ways. But we're here to make Christmas as good as...

01:55:00 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish makes the holiday incredible for families all over that may not have had the best year. Know somebody who's had it rough? Tell about them at mojoswish.org.

01:55:10 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 1:

A big thank you to our friends from the Imagine Theaters, Clean View Auto Wash, and Red Robin for their amazing donations to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. Granting more Christmas wishes. By the way, we are going to be out on Thursday at a Red Robin location that might be convenient for you. And if it's not, I don't care. I want you to still come. I want you to try to be with us. Red Robin in Southgate off of Eureka Road is the location that we're going to be at. I know it's a little far for Grand Rapids, but it's not that far for Toledo. You guys can be there. And we are all going to be waiting tables and bussing and bartending and everything Brian said we're not doing is cooking. He won't let us cook. I think the health department won't allow it.

01:56:01 - 01:56:02 | Speaker 3:

I think that's fair.

01:56:02 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 1:

I want to flip a couple burgers, though.

01:56:03 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 3:

I think I'm still FoodSafe certified.

01:56:05 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's right. I forgot about you. Miss Red Robin here, guys. Did you guys know? Well, you're in the mascot costume, aren't you? You're going to be Red Robin?

01:56:13 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 3:

That's what he said. No, I don't. First of all, my ass is not fitting in that costume anymore. Come on. Second of all, I'm stealing that costume if he brings it out, so he better watch himself.

01:56:24 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 2:

If you put that costume on, I will make an extra donation to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish just for the Instagram photo.

01:56:30 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 3:

I'll put it on. I just don't think it'll completely go on. The last time I fit into it, I was a 16-year-old gymnast. Is it small? I am no longer that. Oh, yeah, it's tiny.

01:56:42 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 1:

So Thursday night, 5 until 7 o'clock at the South Gate on Eureka Road, Red Robin, the money that we get in tips all goes to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish, Plus, they're going to make a nice hefty donation to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. Please come out and have dinner with us. So if you're somebody that is looking to take the family out or you just want to come by and stop by and meet everybody, the whole show will be there. Everybody will be enjoying some fun with you. Red Robin has been such a great supporter of Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish and all of our listeners in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo. And then I was talking to Brian. I said, hey, you know, maybe we should do something for Grand Rapids and Toledo, too. And so we're going to do something cool there to help out breaking and entering Christmas wish because we got so many letters this year and we got to try to grant as many as we possibly can.

01:57:32 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 2:

So yes, I was doing a somebody was interviewing me last night for insurance and they asked if my job was manual or non-manual. And I was like, oh, my God, I couldn't be more non-manual. I am so sedentary sitting here talking for six hours every morning. And I thought, God, the last time I had a manual job was back in the service industry 25, 30 years ago. And now I get to relive it at Red Robin Going to be serving people up It's going to be a mess

01:57:58 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be fun Alright Mojo on the morning show Breakup or makeup So there is a little Squabble going on here right now That's a good word for this Because it's not like full fledged we're fighting I don't even know if this is a breakup or makeup You decide on this Lacey and Sam are on the phone with us right now Samuel and they have a wedding is is the wedding coming up here this weekend or when is the wedding lacy uh yeah it's it's coming up soon okay so you got a wedding that is coming up you guys have been dating now for almost a year and what's the problem what is the the argument that you guys

01:58:44 - 01:59:17 | Speaker 4:

are dealing with right now um yeah so so basically my friend's wedding is coming up and my boyfriend samuel doesn't want to pitch in for the gift um which feels a little weird because you know he's he's coming with me to the wedding and i really would love for him to help pitch in for the gift it's it's a nice thing for my friend who invited us um and i just i feel like he's kind of being cheap about it um is the person who's getting married a mutual friend of

01:59:17 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 3:

of yours of both of yours no she's she's my friend um my friend so sam you there yeah yeah

01:59:27 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 1:

so your reasoning for not pitching in for the gift might be obvious to some but it's not your

01:59:34 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 5:

friend right right i mean like i i'm i know him but like but she's not not she's like lace's friend so i don't know i don't i don't think it should be on me i mean you have been invited to the wedding if you weren't dating her no i wouldn't okay wouldn't you wouldn't even know

01:59:58 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 1:

about the wedding right if you don't if you're not

02:00:00 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 2:

friends with the person you wouldn't even know about the wedding i mean right i mean we've we've

02:00:04 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 8:

i've i've met her through lace but not um at what point do her friends become our friends

02:00:12 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 2:

and let's hope that it happens for samuel after the wedding it's not even that it's like you're gonna break up over this well no that's what i'm saying it's not really a breakup or a makeup but

02:00:23 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 1:

she's she's upset about this but it is a radio because you you think about there's just two ways people handle relationships and i don't know how far along you guys have been dating but some 10 months 10 months okay so some people like to split everything down the middle like here's our grocery bill for this month no you ate the you didn't eat the cabbage whatever this is like one of those situations where you can handle it either way you can say well we're both going we both split it 50 50 or you just go okay this is a lacy friend i'll get the gift for this wedding and then next time we're going to the house and it's sam's friend he pays for this and

02:00:56 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 2:

it just seems to me actually you got it this is a good example of using you spike because of you and your girlfriend haven't been together uh very long if you were going to be going to a wedding

02:01:07 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 1:

of one of her friends i am this saturday we were invited to her friend her co-worker's wedding who's who's paying for the other gift i didn't even ask i just assume she's going out to get the gift because i you know i only share finances at all we do we we well first of all a side project we could talk about this tomorrow she signed me up to be the photographer for this wedding so maybe i'll bring that up tomorrow but but um we we split all our bills so like that's why we moved in together to kind of save some money and and you know we split the mortgage and then like i'll get electric she gets groceries i get gas she gets this streaming so like there's different we all kind of we evenly looked down the middle and said okay so what about the what about this gift but with a wedding gift i just assumed she would get it because first of all she's going to be much better at a gift but also this is her friend that she's worked with for many years she's known him i've become friends with him now because of the of dating but i didn't know him two two years ago so it's kind of one of those things where it's like well now it's you know our friend but it's kind of like the invite was to to megan for the wedding not to to me hey mary what

02:02:20 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 4:

do you think about this who pays for this gift 100 on her to be paying for this um i i just think that they met through her and if it was my boyfriend or fiance and it was his friend that i was introduced to i would be feeling the exact same way i think that if you know they were going to a wedding for his friend it should be on him yeah i agree with you should be a mutual uh party to pay for.

02:02:47 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 2:

I agree, too. Taxers are all agreeing, too. Look at these text messages.

02:02:51 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 3:

There are a few that are saying, it doesn't matter. You should split it 50-50. It's like a night out. Think of it as paying for your dinner and drinks. You're still going and partaking, Samuel, so you should be ponying up half of the gift. I get that.

02:03:07 - 02:03:07 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:03:07 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I do. I do because weddings are expensive. You got to think that the person who's bringing you Is probably paying at least like what $100 for you to be there I feel like you gotta pitch in If you're that far into a relationship Like if you're dating Three or four months I feel like You could miss out it's not that big of a deal You could say go alone But if you're in a committed enough relationship Where you're expected to go to the wedding Maybe you should be pitching in Oh I'm so torn

02:03:37 - 02:03:38 | Speaker 2:

What do you think Chrissy

02:03:38 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 5:

Yes hi Mojo

02:03:40 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 2:

Hi who should pay for the gift

02:03:43 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 6:

I think she should pay for the gift if it's her friend and he hasn't met the friend before. But if he met the friend before, it would have been a different story.

02:03:52 - 02:03:56 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people are saying if you are the plus one, you don't pay.

02:03:56 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. If your name was on the invitation because they know you, it might be a different story.

02:04:00 - 02:04:02 | Speaker 2:

Hey, who should pay for the gift, Michelle?

02:04:03 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 8:

I think they should split it because you're going as a date and you're in a relationship. So it's like another night out.

02:04:11 - 02:04:27 | Speaker 2:

you would split a date maybe so so it's gonna all be on her being that obviously you know he's gonna be eaten from some some of the the wedding food he actually should have some responsibility what do you think are you giving money lacy or are you buying a gift gift

02:04:27 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 7:

well i was gonna buy a gift gift and the thing is that i was going to do all of the work for this i was gonna pick out the gift you know i know her i don't expect daniel to like go and buy something because he doesn't really know her yet. I would love him to know her.

02:04:43 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 2:

How much money are we talking? Will he have to pay for this?

02:04:47 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 7:

I mean, I was thinking of pitching in a gift that's around, like, probably close to $100 because she's a really good friend of mine.

02:04:54 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that doesn't seem very expensive.

02:04:57 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Well, and so then if we split that, then that doesn't...

02:05:00 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 6:

I mean, listen, I know what Samuel pays for his lattes in the morning. So, like, you know, like, it feels like a big deal.

02:05:10 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Tanisha says that there is one way to decide who pays for this. And what is that, Tanisha?

02:05:16 - 02:05:22 | Speaker 4:

If the wedding invite said plus one versus if the wedding invite said both of their names.

02:05:22 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So what did the wedding invite say? well it it it said lacy and guest and guest yes so it did not say it did not say samuel and lacy or lacy and samuel so tenacia so he's off the hook yeah also what uh lacy

02:05:48 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 6:

i just you know when you're setting out wedding invitations you don't know where people's relationships are going to be down the line. They set this out a long time ago. This was when we were still kind of new. So.

02:06:01 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, listen, I think a majority of people are saying that you, it's your, your friend, your gift. Oh, she hung up.

02:06:11 - 02:06:13 | Speaker 5:

This is Mojo in the morning.

02:06:13 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 3:

You ever notice that our hangups sound like a fart? Don't they? It's crazy. Mojo in the morning show. Uh-oh, we got Trouble in Paradise here, Spike, and his girlfriend in a little bit of an argument. Is this okay to talk about on the radio?

02:06:35 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to because I don't think she's listening right now. But Megan's not the jealous type. Listen, my girlfriend will see me looking at hot bikini models on Instagram, and she'll be like, ooh, who's that? She's hot. Or, you know, like if I point out a hot girl in public, she'll be like, nice.

02:06:52 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 3:

Really? When you point out a hot girl in public

02:06:56 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she doesn't get I told you about the bartender once She's like, not if I get her first She's totally not the jealous type She's playful and fun, and I enjoy that There's no jealousy But I found the limit last week And it was about food I cannot compliment Another woman's cooking And I hit a hot button What do you mean, what happened? Well, all I did was say oh we were talking about trying to put together our menu for thanksgiving and meg's so awesome she cooked like we had three different thanksgiving dinners three nights in a row and she was in the kitchen but she loves doing it all i did last week was say remember that woman at the charity event who gave us a key lime pie like that was her thing she she baked pies that was like the best pie ever that set megan off how dare i compliment another woman's dessert what did she do she got so offended well then she got real competitive so meg ended up making me a key lime pie last weekend during the holidays to make sure i knew that she makes better pies than that woman was it better oh yeah it was you have honestly was it better well the other one was a year ago i don't remember it was a year ago and all i did was i mean it was obviously good Because I remember it was good, but this one was so good. I'm telling you, Meg makes a better pie.

02:08:20 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 3:

I remember that lady, because that lady made a gluten-free key lime pie that was supposed to be for moi.

02:08:24 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 1:

It's my favorite pie. I hosted a charity event for her. It was very nice. She's the wife of a dentist in Rochester, and her side hustle is she makes pies, and they were delicious pies. And she had some as gifts for people that were working the charity event.

02:08:42 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 3:

I want to find that woman's That lady's name Because I'm going to ask her If she will make A blind taste test I want to have her make a key lime pie

02:08:55 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 1:

If you're not a long time listener of this show Last year she sent me home With a pie for Mojo I got stuck in traffic I didn't eat during the whole charity event Because I was doing announcing And I was working a microphone So I pulled over on the ride home And ate Mojo's pie I never made it to Mojo

02:09:13 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to get her number here Gina, she's a friend of Gina, my friend And I'm going to find out If she can make us a key lime pie And then Megan Your girlfriend has to make a key lime pie

02:09:28 - 02:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, but I'm not judging, you're not starting that No, no, no, no, no Here's what we're going to do

02:09:34 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

It's like the Coke Pepsi challenge We're going to have a blind taste test With you

02:09:40 - 02:09:51 | Speaker 1:

I'm not doing it I will call in sick then You can eat all the pies you want I already know my girlfriend makes a better pie Than any other woman I just said it on record

02:09:51 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 3:

But honestly that day that you said that to her Before you realized that she had a little bit of a food jealousy

02:09:58 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 6:

Well, I'd never had Meg's pie before, so I couldn't tell you if she made a good pie. She proved me right.

02:10:06 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 4:

Can we go back to, do you think that she really doesn't get jealous over those things? Or you guys are just so new in the relationship that she pretends like she doesn't get jealous?

02:10:15 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 6:

We've been dating a year and a half. We've been dating a year and a half we live together. She's going to tell me if she's got a problem. No, she doesn't get that way. But with cooking, because that's her love language. like meg cooks for me she loves making me i mean yeah i have never seen anybody post more

02:10:35 - 02:10:42 | Speaker 5:

pictures of videos yeah of their significant other uh in the kitchen than you you do well i've never

02:10:42 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 6:

like had this before where you like she enjoy i don't enjoy cooking it makes me miserable it's something i have to do to survive and she loves it and i look at her like crazy like how do you like spending six hours in the kitchen for something i'm gonna eat for 10 minutes happy

02:10:57 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 3:

when she cooks too. She's got a glass of wine and she's like stirring over the stove. That's how I wish I was. I feel like I'm watching food porn.

02:11:05 - 02:11:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:11:07 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 6:

I never saw someone that actually enjoys it so much that doesn't have a TV show because I'm like and then I'll eat it in 15 minutes and then she'll clean up the dishes. And I'm like, what? You just did all that work. I should do the dishes. No, go do your radio work.

02:11:23 - 02:11:26 | Speaker 3:

I'll do the dishes. Look how many listeners want to blind taste test some pies with us.

02:11:26 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 6:

yes we can make it a charity event and raise money anyone wants to have some pie oh my gosh she made four desserts for me for like every time i came home i had a new idea i'm like you know it'd be really good we haven't had in a while tiramisu she's like oh i make a good tiramisu and then one time i just texted her somebody at work mentioned pumpkin cheesecake you know how to make pumpkin cheesecake and it was like i had desserts tourettes because i would I would just text her random desserts and be like, every day. And so she would actually keep adding them to the list. And she made so many things for me.

02:12:04 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 3:

How are you not plumper?

02:12:05 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 6:

I started a new, I'm watching what I eat starting yesterday. I started being real healthy. I downloaded the app to keep control of what I'm eating. But you've gained a little weight, haven't you, since she started dating her? Absolutely, I have. Yeah.

02:12:17 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 5:

Because you can't help yourself.

02:12:19 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 6:

I've only gained eight pounds, but I feel like you could see all eight pounds in my face.

02:12:23 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that she's trying to purposely have you gain weight so that you keep your focus at home?

02:12:30 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 6:

I don't know.

02:12:31 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 5:

It's a possibility. And not on some other lady's key lime pie? I mean, you can ask her if you want. By the way, can I tell you that I'm in search of this lady because I've got to find her because I know you wouldn't do it unless I can get it. But when I find this lady, the Eastside Pie lady, I'm going to have you. Because she had a gluten-free place that made it or something.

02:12:55 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 6:

Her name was Trisha or Trish.

02:12:57 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 5:

Is that what it is?

02:12:57 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm not. I think so. Wait a second. Hang on. I'll look because she's on my Instagram.

02:13:02 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 5:

You're going to get yourself in even more trouble. You understand that. By the fact that you remembered her name.

02:13:09 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 6:

She was very kind. Yeah, here she is. Is it?

02:13:12 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 5:

Got a number?

02:13:14 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 6:

No.

02:13:14 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, maybe.

02:13:15 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 6:

You let me look at my phone.

02:13:16 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 5:

Jason, what's going on? Hey, guys. How are you doing this morning? We're good. What do you think about this little squabble going on in Spike's relationship over his love affair with another woman's pie?

02:13:29 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 2:

I think complimenting another woman's cooking is the same thing as when Allie said another man was funnier than Mike. Yes. That's what he reminds me of.

02:13:41 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 5:

Don't crawl.

02:13:43 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 4:

How do I feel for you now, man? I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I jumped around about it before. Yeah, see? I'm serious.

02:13:48 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 5:

So it's basically, it's, you know.

02:13:50 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 6:

Now you got me curious if she's trying to get me fat because, actually, no, I know that's not true because she's been making little comments about me. I could drive. I'll go to the gym with you. So I think she's actually getting sick of me being fat. What? You held up Megan. Here, you want to call her? Okay.

02:14:08 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 3:

Now I just really want key lime pie.

02:14:10 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 5:

A little bit, yeah.

02:14:11 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 3:

No, like a lot of it. It's my favorite.

02:14:14 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 5:

Do you have that lady's number, too? It's not my phone. Let me see if I have her email.

02:14:17 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 3:

What did you say, Meg? It's mine, too. Is it? Sorry, did you hear me say Megan?

02:14:22 - 02:14:22 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:14:23 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 3:

All the Megs. Cool. Hi, Megan. Hi, Meg. Who are we talking to?

02:14:28 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 5:

Spikes, Megan. Are you there?

02:14:30 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:14:31 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 5:

You're on the radio. Are you listening to us?

02:14:33 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, great. Hi, guys. Hi.

02:14:36 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 5:

Are you listening to what our conversation's about?

02:14:39 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not. I'm working. I'm being productive.

02:14:42 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 5:

We're talking about Spike's love affair with another woman's pie.

02:14:49 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. That, you know, that really hurt me. So we have an idea.

02:14:56 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 3:

We have a proposition.

02:14:57 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 6:

No, they have an idea. Not we. I have nothing to do with this.

02:15:00 - 02:15:05 | Speaker 2:

We think we're going to have her make her key lime pie, and you make your key lime pie, and we're going to do a blind taste test.

02:15:05 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy.

02:15:06 - 02:15:11 | Speaker 3:

I said I will put your pie up against anybody else's. That was the best key lime pie I've ever had.

02:15:11 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 2:

But he won't know whose pie is whose pie.

02:15:13 - 02:15:18 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm not doing the blind taste test. Oh, yes, you are. No, I am in a very happy relationship, and I don't want to change that.

02:15:19 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 2:

What do you think? Let's try it.

02:15:21 - 02:15:23 | Speaker 4:

I'm not scared. I'm in.

02:15:23 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she wants the challenge. I like this. This is going to be good. We're trying to figure out.

02:15:28 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 3:

That's fine. I don't even think I have that.

02:15:30 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 2:

We're trying to figure out the lady that made that pie, and we're going to get her to make one, and then you have to make one. We'll bring it in, and we'll do a little taste test here.

02:15:40 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 4:

All right. All right. Let's ignore the fact that her pies go to charity, but I'm in.

02:15:45 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay. I like it. Maybe what we'll do is maybe this is a deal that, Spike, we'll have to throw in a little charity aspect to this whole thing. We'll donate to that lady's charity for bringing in a pie. There you go. charity pie so that sounds good um is there anything else that that because spike says that you're not you don't get jealous if he looks at another woman or makes a comment about another woman or if he's looking online at stuff but this for some reason set you off yeah you know so yeah

02:16:14 - 02:16:20 | Speaker 4:

you know his uh instagram models that he follows that's fine by me that's not my arena my arena

02:16:20 - 02:16:36 | Speaker 2:

is cooking and baking and that's it yeah what what if he you came home one day what if you came home one day and he was in bed with another pie how would that make you feel um yeah i mean that's

02:16:36 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 3:

that's well we also know she would have to remake the bed so yeah okay i just found i just found her phone number because it was in i was gonna say i didn't have it in my phone i didn't have it anywhere but it's in my instagram messages from when i hosted no oh he's dm in the pilot no i I had to go back a full year.

02:16:57 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 2:

Megan, the man is DMing the pie lady. You better be careful.

02:17:01 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. I haven't tasted her pie since. Travel.

02:17:08 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning, six on sex. Coming up in minutes.

02:17:13 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Six on six. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking.

02:17:20 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that big? Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the morning, six on sex. Hello, Emily.

02:17:29 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

02:17:31 - 02:17:45 | Speaker 2:

You're excited about winning some tickets. Very excited. Are you excited to have to tell all of your secrets about your sex life to not only the world listening right now, but also to your dad?

02:17:46 - 02:17:47 | Speaker 5:

No, not so much.

02:17:48 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 2:

02:17:55 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 5:

Not so much with my dad. He's, like, you know, reserved, calm, cool, and collective, doesn't, like, you know, stuff like this.

02:18:05 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, to be honest, I don't think any dad wants to hear the details from their daughter.

02:18:10 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't have daughters, and I don't want to hear details from you with your dad on the phone. But here, we're going to ask six questions about your sex life and have your dad on the phone listening. Let me pick up your dad. on the phone with us is Emily's dad. Are you okay? 02:20:59 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 1:

Probably the losers. Sorry for all the losers. I dated and the ones I walked in on.

02:21:08 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, wait. Dad has walked in on you? Yes.

02:21:13 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 1:

Unfortunately.

02:21:14 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 3:

Did he know what you were doing?

02:21:16 - 02:21:18 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Dads know.

02:21:18 - 02:21:23 | Speaker 3:

Dad, do you remember anything in particular?

02:21:25 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there was a couple of guys from her work doing a little loud over here.

02:21:30 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

Wait, a couple of guys from your work?

02:21:34 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 2:

From her work.

02:21:36 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, from her work.

02:21:39 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 2:

You know, when you throw up the covers really fast, you know something's going on.

02:21:42 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you actually would what? You'd walk into there and...

02:21:46 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 1:

he said when you throw the cover something's going on but there were a couple of guys in your bed no no not at the same time

02:21:57 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 3:

02:22:01 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 3:

02:22:40 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 1:

02:23:19 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 3:

Okay, question number five in Six on Sex. Oh, God, I can't believe I'm asking this question. Emily, I want you to fill in the blank. I never had an orgasm until blank.

02:23:38 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 1:

I never had a real orgasm until we started to, you know, explore the role-playing.

02:23:59 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 3:

Role-playing?

02:24:00 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 1:

Role-

02:24:01 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 3:

Role-playing. Like, what do you mean, role-playing? What were you role-playing?

02:24:05 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 1:

You know, teacher-school girl situation. That doesn't mean you ever fooled around

02:24:16 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 3:

with any of your teachers, hopefully.

02:24:18 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 1:

No, no. It didn't take it that far.

02:24:22 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Oh, my God. And last question in Six on Sex. Dad, I don't know if you want me to ask a question that is personal about Emily and her sex life because I just did five of them, or would you mind if I asked one that was personal about your sex life that Emily might know?

02:24:42 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 2:

You know, I think I've heard enough about my daughter. I think I can embarrass her a bit. Let's go with me.

02:24:48 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 3:

Emily, every kid has heard their parents probably fooling around once or twice. Yes. Can you tell us where in your parents' home do they...

02:25:00 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 1:

keep all of their fun stuff oh my god well um i don't know if i if it's in the dvd player where i thought i was putting on a show or and it was uh you know a different kind of movie or if it was the time that i was looking for something and i opened uh you know a drawer next to the bed and Fun surprises are all in there.

02:25:26 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. What surprises? That's your mother's stuff. That's not mine.

02:25:34 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:25:37 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 3:

What surprises were in there?

02:25:39 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you know, the toys, some handcuffs, stuff I didn't want to touch. Eight-inch helpers.

02:25:51 - 02:25:56 | Speaker 3:

They're helpers. So now we know that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Pops?

02:25:59 - 02:26:01 | Speaker 1:

It fell right at the bottom of the tree.

02:26:05 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 3:

Hey, this friend of yours, that Kenny guy, will Kenny be getting a phone call after this six-on-sex? Oh, Kenny's at work right now. He's going to be going to talk to her in a minute. Wait, you actually work with him?

02:26:19 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's not on my run right now, But once he gets back Wait, are you his boss?

02:26:25 - 02:26:29 | Speaker 1:

No, no, just co-workers Just the co-workers Okay

02:26:29 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 3:

I think that's going to be a very interesting lunch hour Don't you think today? When Kenny gets a talking to Yeah, I might have to have Emily come up here No Emily, that has been six on sex Yay, oh my god

02:26:45 - 02:26:51 | Speaker 1:

I can't believe it Thank you, Dad And I'm sorry Don't hurt, Kenny.

02:26:52 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 3:

All right. Hold on one second. We'll get you set up.

02:26:56 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 1:

All right. Thank you so much.

02:26:57 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 3:

Six on six.

02:26:59 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning, six on six.

02:27:04 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, with what's going on in the Dirty on the 30, what you got, Shannon?

02:27:10 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, if you heard the rumor or maybe you saw the photo and you thought that Justin Bieber's wife, Haley, is pregnant, she says no. She's not expecting. She posted a photo to her Instagram where she's lifting up her sweatshirt to show her tummy.

02:27:26 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 3:

I didn't see that. Where's that? Is that on her site?

02:27:28 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 2:

It might have been on her story. I don't know.

02:27:30 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Look at that. Haley Bieber.

02:27:32 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 2:

She's wearing gray sweatpants in it.

02:27:34 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I always feel bad when people do that. Even Haley, people automatically assume you're pregnant and then don't know what people are going through.

02:27:46 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 2:

It's the last slide on her story.

02:27:48 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy.

02:27:49 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 2:

Okay. First of all, that doesn't look like Baby Pop

02:27:52 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, why would people assume that?

02:27:55 - 02:27:56 | Speaker 1:

They're just trying to fashion her

02:27:56 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 2:

Like that or like Are you really trying to figure out Before she's ready to announce that she's pregnant Come on, have some decency But she wrote alongside the photo Like on the text overlay I have a cyst on my ovary the size of an apple I don't have endometriosis or PCOS But I have gotten an ovarian cyst There we go, a few times And it's never fun The size of an apple sounds terrible. She said, it's painful and achy and makes me feel nauseous and bloated and cramped and emotional. Anyway, I'm sure a lot of you can overly relate and understand. We got this. But no, baby. But a big cyst. You probably saw, speaking of photos going around the internet, the photo or videos of country singer slash reality star slash dancing with the stars contestant, Jesse James Decker's three kids. And they've got abs. Like I'm talking her daughter has an eight pack, not even a six pack, an eight pack.

02:28:54 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 3:

And the kids are like, they're little.

02:28:56 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 2:

They're like, Lucy Smith, Milo's ages. Yeah. Sess's ages. And so people were accusing Jesse James Decker of Photoshopping abs on her kids while they were, you know, on vacation in Mexico. She's sharing photos from this Mexican vacation. And she's like, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. And she said, it's bonkers to think that I even have to respond to this. But she wrote alongside a video of the kids being accused of photoshopping abs on my kids. I can't help but laugh. And she said, this really makes me realize how bizarre our world has gotten regarding the body and what's normal and what's not. We preach about body positivity and acceptance, but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is weird.

02:29:44 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 3:

I've never seen kids, though, with abs like that.

02:29:46 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, her daughter is a competitive gymnast, and so she's probably, you know, in the gym every single day. That is grueling. She's ripped. Eric Jr. plays football just like his daddy, and then her little.

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 5:

guy, Forrest, just likes to dance, and he, you know, probably has, like, zero body fat.

02:30:04 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 4:

Zero body fat, right? I remember seeing one kid like that in the pool and thinking, oh, my gosh, you're six and you got abs, dude. Genetics. Genetics. Maybe it was alarming because you see three kids right next to each other.

02:30:16 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 5:

And Vivi, her daughter, I mean, truly is, like, it does look fake on that, but it's real.

02:30:23 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 4:

And she's like, why would I do that? But, like, stop commenting on other people's kids like that. It's like, don't, you don't have to get into that.

02:30:29 - 02:30:40 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes I wonder if celebrities don't understand internet culture and it's just been like jokes. And then celebrities are like, why are you shaming my kids? And it's more like, no, your kids are just ripped. That's crazy.

02:30:41 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 3:

Those kids, by the way, they look like bodybuilder ripped, though.

02:30:44 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 5:

They really are.

02:30:45 - 02:30:46 | Speaker 3:

It's amazing.

02:30:46 - 02:30:55 | Speaker 5:

At first glance, I'll be honest, I thought it was like one of those stupid filters. That's what I thought, too. You know, like the crying filter or whatever. I was like, oh, she put a filter. And then when I went back and looked, I'm like, oh, no, that's.

02:30:56 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 1:

I just want to know the filter so I can use it. Right.

02:30:58 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 5:

Let's talk about the World Cup yesterday

02:31:02 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 3:

It said 2, by the way, today I thought it was 1 o'clock, the pre-game is 1 o'clock Oh, sorry, 2 o'clock

02:31:06 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, yesterday in Qatar Tyler Adams was quizzed by Iranian journalists Ahead of our, it really is a must-win match today for us Against Iran And listen to how this went down

02:31:20 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 7:

First of all, you say you support the Iranian people But you're pronouncing our country's name wrong Our country is named Iran not iran please once and for all let's get this clear second of all um are you okay to be representing a country that has so much discrimination against black people in its own borders and we saw the black lives matter movements over the past few years are you okay to be representing the u.s meanwhile there's so much discrimination happening against black people

02:31:52 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 1:

in america my apologies on uh the mispronunciation of your country um yeah that being said you know there's discrimination uh everywhere you go um you know one thing that i've learned especially from living abroad in the past years and uh having to fit in in different cultures and kind of assimilate into different cultures um is that in the u.s we're continuing to make progress every single day. That's good, by the way. Good response.

02:32:20 - 02:32:23 | Speaker 4:

Just shows why he's the captain and the team leader handled it well.

02:32:24 - 02:32:35 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the press conference, the coach being asked questions? He was being, like, just berated by the media, too, from – what is it, Iran or Iran?

02:32:35 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 4:

It's the Iranian state media, the journalist that was there. And it's like, you know, they have to be classy. They can't turn it back on the guy.

02:32:42 - 02:32:47 | Speaker 3:

I always thought it was pronounced that way. I didn't know that it wasn't pronounced that way.

02:32:47 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 4:

Like anyone from other countries, you have different pronunciations.

02:32:50 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 5:

People say, you could say Qatar. It's totally acceptable.

02:32:54 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 4:

Iran, but for some reason we Americanize everything. We say Iran. It's the same way that people think we pronounce Rihanna wrong. They say it's Rihanna. It's like, no, we've all just been pronouncing it wrong and gave it a fancy pronunciation. Just YouTube how she pronounces her own name.

02:33:09 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 6:

I hate to break this to you, but China is not called China. Right. It's crazy.

02:33:15 - 02:33:26 | Speaker 3:

Did you see, speaking of pronunciations, did you see the White House press secretary yesterday pronouncing the Nobel Peace Prize, the Nobel, I think it was? Hold on, let me play that for you.

02:33:27 - 02:33:47 | Speaker 2:

A President Biden met with three U.S. winners of the 2022 Nobel Prize. Dr. Caroline Bertozzi, who won the Nobel Prize in chemistry. Dr. John Clouser, who won the Nobel Prize in physics. and Dr. Douglas Diamond, who won the Nobel Prize in Economic...

02:33:47 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 3:

Is it Nobel or Nobel Peace Prize?

02:33:50 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. See, when it's someone like that pronouncing it,

02:33:52 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 5:

I'm like, have we been... Are we dumb? Are we all dumb?

02:33:55 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I don't know.

02:33:56 - 02:34:01 | Speaker 6:

Also, don't ever have me read the word colonel, because I will never pronounce that right. Colonel?

02:34:02 - 02:34:02 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:34:03 - 02:34:07 | Speaker 5:

Well, for the longest time, I thought chaos was Chahos. Don't ask me why.

02:34:08 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 3:

It's really dumb. And if you win something, like if the USA wins today,

02:34:12 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 4:

I knew I wasn't going to be able to get through this without somebody turning it on me.

02:34:15 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 3:

They would have what? They would have?

02:34:18 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 4:

Well, apparently they would have number one it. They would have won it. They would have won it. One is the number. One is winning the prize. And one is the number.

02:34:28 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 3:

One is the loneliest number.

02:34:31 - 02:34:45 | Speaker 4:

That's the only one. Will we ever get bored of pointing out that I'm from a different coast and pronounce things differently? From a different country. It's called Philadelphia. You call it milk. The cows make milk. Well, there you go. That's a good one. We all have regionalisms. Hello.

02:34:47 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 3:

And husband.

02:34:48 - 02:34:52 | Speaker 6:

Husband. Nobody knows why you say it like that, though. There's no reason for that.

02:34:53 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 5:

Lastly, Dwayne The Rock Johnson sharing a video on social media of a visit to a 7-Eleven in Hawaii, in which he...

02:35:00 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 1:

bought out the store's entire supply of Snickers bars and then left them on the counter for any customers who wanted to take for free. Well, there was a reason he did this. I have been waiting decades to do what I'm getting ready to do now. Hey, where's your Snickers? When I was 14 years old, every day I used to stop here at the 7-Eleven and steal a king-size Snicker bar because I couldn't afford to buy one. That was my pre-workout food. I did that for almost a year every day. I had to come back and buy every Snickers bar on those shelves.

02:35:33 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 3:

Now I want a Key Lime Pie, and now I want a Snickers. But that's kind of his retribution, I guess, huh?

02:35:38 - 02:35:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and he kind of comes full circle. But do you think after he left, the guy behind the cash register put them all right back on the shelf and resold them? Well, they had to make up the ones he stole.

02:35:48 - 02:35:53 | Speaker 1:

Right, right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on thejointhemorning.com. Let's go!

02:35:53 - 02:36:07 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30, and another world-famous phone scam is next. It's time for an official government survey. It's Mojo in the Morning Senseless Survey.

02:36:12 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 6:

It's been going on. Jim, this is Ann. May I help you?

02:36:18 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Ann. It's Mr. Bob Dabalina from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. How are you doing this morning? I'm great. And you? I'm doing pretty good. We just have this 30-second survey that we do for the government. It's the senseless.

02:36:29 - 02:36:30 | Speaker 6:

Uh-huh.

02:36:30 - 02:36:37 | Speaker 5:

We just have three questions. It takes about 30 seconds. Just asking, how would you tell if someone replaced your I can't believe it's not butter with real butter?

02:36:38 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 6:

How would I react?

02:36:40 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 5:

How would you know if they replaced your butter? Oh, you wouldn't. You wouldn't know? No. Do you think we can guess who's Destiny's favorite child ended up being yet?

02:36:50 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 6:

No, but I've had, I've got, I'm at work and I need to go to work.

02:36:55 - 02:37:05 | Speaker 5:

So if a small iPad is called a mini, does that make the old one a maxi iPad? No. And what if oxygen makes our voice really deep?

02:37:05 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'm through now. Okay, well, I'm not through yet.

02:37:08 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 5:

I just have this last question. I didn't get too many done with this one.

02:37:14 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 3:

I could talk to her forever, couldn't you?

02:37:16 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

02:37:18 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey. Because we love America.

02:37:25 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 3:

How'd you do it on the morning show? Yeah. Yeah, I know. Producer KP in studio with us this morning. KP with something. It's funny, by the way. Can I just give you a compliment for something? Besides, we'll get in your topic in a second. I thought you did a fantastic job arranging our little photo shoot that we did yesterday. You have this eye You have this photography eye Are you a photographer?

02:38:01 - 02:38:06 | Speaker 2:

I'm not a photographer I'm just a fanatic about having it look the way I want it to look

02:38:06 - 02:38:12 | Speaker 5:

You know why he's complimenting you? Because it was done in two minutes You knew what you wanted You took two pictures

02:38:12 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 2:

I just knew that people had things to do So I wanted to get it done Not that it was awful I loved how we all got together It was super funny Can I tell you why I'm complimenting you?

02:38:23 - 02:40:12 | Speaker 3:

My wife made me So did she really? Yes. So let me just say that. So the other day we were having a text conversation in our group chat or group text and it was Shannon asking the question, hey, I've got on my calendar. Are we doing this group photo shoot? And I quickly answered probably not like, you know, not like anything else. I answered it in a negative way. And then the next question was asked, and the next question was asked, and it was like something else, and I answered it in negative. And then I said to Chelsea, I go, Chelsea, am I being too negative on this one? And she read it, and she goes, she sounded like a kindergarten teacher to me. She's like, you are killing her spirits, as she said about KP. Because KP had such a positive attitude about the whole thing, and she was really positive. Like, you guys can wear whatever you want. you can do this or here's an idea like she was giving all these ideas you sent examples and she was like she just started on the show and you're killing her spirits right now and you've got to stop this you got to can't be negative and then we're having a conversation and chelsea was at was talking and she's like you know and i have not even had an opportunity to get a chance to to meet kp so we're actually doing lunch this uh or dinner this uh this week so we're gonna go to dinner on friday night i like i'm excited about this she's very excited by the way chelsea is Yeah. Actually, to be honest with you, it's funny. I said, I said, Chelsea, because I asked you yesterday on a text, I said, would you rather do dinner, lunch or whatever? And it would you like it to be during the week or on the weekends? And you answered the way I would have answered, which was. friday or saturday night because honestly i am you know the week is just so much i'm not i you i fall asleep i fell asleep a couple of times during the week i fall asleep too like i go home and my

02:40:12 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 1:

grandparents are just like to wake my grandpa actually woke me up at the kitchen table yesterday wow until four i know at home and um yeah so i drove home in the traffic and then i got home and literally laid on the table while my mic the microwave was going off and i fell asleep in the

02:40:27 - 02:41:15 | Speaker 3:

two minutes oh my gosh did you have to reheat up the whatever you're eating no i just ate it because i actually was so hungry oh yeah so hungry so chelsea actually said oh we're gonna do it friday night and she's like yeah why don't i just go to dinner with her which actually probably be better yeah no there i am being negative again see there i am no no no no i think it will be good it will be fun um but convince himself but you did great yesterday i thought that that was uh that was awesome looking forward to this coming out during the holidays a special photo it'll be out you'll see it on our our social media and stuff uh i know our our photo shoots are call crystal in promotions and ask her if she'll take a picture for us we're right down the hall that shows you how much budget we have on this radio show y'all stress me out anyways yeah i was having way too

02:41:15 - 02:41:22 | Speaker 1:

much fun and nobody else was having fun oh my god your faces were so good i'm looking at these It's just like, oh, my God, Megan, you're making me die laughing.

02:41:23 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 2:

I was peeing my pants while we were taking these photos, and everybody else was like, can we just get this over with?

02:41:29 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, the thing we realized with you, Megan, is you get so excited just to be around people.

02:41:33 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 2:

You say that like it's a negative thing.

02:41:36 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 3:

No, it's interesting because people don't understand that you're in there by yourself all day, right?

02:41:41 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I'm talking literally to a wall right now.

02:41:44 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 3:

So it's kind of nice. It's fun to have people that are hanging out.

02:41:47 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 2:

It would be nice if it wasn't you guys.

02:41:51 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 3:

She's not wrong. Megan, I'm having Chelsea call you and telling you you're being negative. You're killing my spirits. That's going to be my new thing, by the way. You're killing my spirits. If somebody says anything negative to me, I'm going to say that from now on.

02:42:05 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 1:

To be fair, when you sent that message in, I was like, oh, shoot, is that like him saying that I keep dropping the ball on appointments that I set? What have I forgotten? No, just as a show. We have these great ideas, and then it gets to be that day, and we're like, yeah, we don't really have to do that. To be fair, our TikTok that we were going to do, I was so excited about it, but then I got COVID. Yeah, that's right. So that was the thing I could control.

02:42:24 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 3:

KP, we come up with excellent ideas, and we amount to about 4% of them that make it on the air or on our social media. So that's usually the case. And you, so far, we're at about 10% with this. but um all right so kp uh for those that don't know she like actually working on the show is not different than being in part of your family there's a lot of people on the show and there's a lot of people in your family you have a lot of siblings yeah so i'm the oldest of six and then i have two stepbrothers so technically i have eight um so jeez what is holidays like in that house

02:43:03 - 02:44:30 | Speaker 1:

nuts so the holiday break for me wasn't exactly a break just because we had so many family events happening i had to go you know see grandparents this day mom this day dad this day and my sister emily she's studying design and art in philly she was home for the weekend and uh god siblings we always get in like these petty little tussles i feel like i was excited to see her and i actually took some of my siblings to go see elf the musical and i got them popcorn and stuff and they they loved it but my sister on thanksgiving got mad at me because i decided that i was so tired and i wanted to go home at like 11 it was late like I wanted to go go home and I'm like all right I'm just gonna leave just like but but can you just drive me home like I'm here and I'm in town why don't you just drive me home they're like no Emily it's 45 minutes to there to get back you know like I want to go to bed and it got me thinking about the petty things that siblings do and what my brother Aaron one of my brothers did to Emily three years ago or five years ago now actually she was doing her laundry and my brother was too lazy to take her clothes out of the dryer so he put it in a garbage bag and then put it in our family's storage room like instead of putting it in a basket or putting it in her room that's what he did because he just wanted to get rid of it wanted to toss it and my sister three years later goes into the storage room and finds her

02:44:30 - 02:44:35 | Speaker 3:

clothes oh my god three years later wait a second i'm sure she was missing them for for those three

02:44:35 - 02:44:43 | Speaker 1:

years what did she think happened to him i don't even think she realized that they were gone until she found them oh my god do you realize do you realize when your clothes are gone i mean like

02:44:43 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 3:

that's such a that's such a brother sister thing to do but also that's something that a husband does to a wife when when oh that's stupid if you do that you're gonna kick out i have uh i have gone in to go do laundry and i don't know what needs to be dried and what needs to be hung up and there have been times where

02:45:00 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 4:

where I've gotten myself into trouble because I'll take it out of the washer because I want to put something in the washer and I'll put it right on top of the dryer and it will sit there for days. And I'm like, wait a second, you should come back for your clothes.

02:45:13 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 6:

But I love the pettiness of sibling fights because I think now back at all the mean things I used to do to my sister all the time and she would do equally mean things. And it was just like, these are the people you're supposed to love the most. But when you are like teenagers or preteen,

02:45:26 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm the oldest of three girls. we were rotten to each other and like if my sisters and I would get mad I was they used to bully me but I was just as mean back to them and I would we would take my mom's lipstick and we would write nasty notes to each other on our bedroom mirrors my mom would get so mad because not only then would she have to clean it up but we'd ruin her lipstick I mean we were just my sister would always steal my clothes put them in her backpack and change at school so I would see

02:45:53 - 02:46:02 | Speaker 4:

her in the hallways in my stuff but you guys get along nowadays right we do your sisters because Spike, there's still a little adult rivalry between you and Patty, your sister, right?

02:46:02 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 6:

There's no rivalry. She's just a little nuts. She's lived a very sheltered life under the wing of her mother, never lived more than a mile apart from home. My parents have babied her and treated her as the 15-year-old princess in the house.

02:46:19 - 02:46:19 | Speaker 1:

Megan, we need you.

02:46:21 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 3:

Wait a second. Do we get a Christmas letter this year?

02:46:25 - 02:46:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. I don't know. I haven't seen anything yet

02:46:27 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 4:

Megan, doesn't it feel good when you hear KP tell stories about her siblings Shannon about hers, Spike about his mine about mine, aren't you happy you only have one sibling? I'm legit

02:46:38 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 2:

terrified of your relationships growing up because that never happened in my house, but it might be different because we were boy-girl, so I wasn't stealing his clothes, he wasn't stealing mine but no, y'all are just psychopaths who were terrorizing

02:46:54 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 1:

I did to my sister one year so um we have always shared room always we seriously I never had my own room growing up so when I got my own room in college it was like literally Disneyland um but I did this to my sister she was sleeping and she got up to go to the bathroom and I we had bunk beds at the time and I put myself between the wall and her bed she was the bottom bunk and I covered myself in stuffed animals and to scare her when she came back and she came back she got into bed, and I could not scare her. I could not contain my laughter. And the laughter was scarier than the scream, than the go out and say boo or something. Laughing stuffed animals was scarier. I got in so much trouble, I think I was grounded for the entire summer. Really? Yeah. That got you grounded in your house? She was terrified. Oh my god, yeah. Oh, in my house?

02:47:46 - 02:47:50 | Speaker 4:

She was terrified. We pulled weapons on each other and never got grounded for stuff like that. That's

02:47:50 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 1:

amazing. What kind of weapon? Like a pocket knife?

02:47:52 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 4:

Nah, you had knives and stuff, my brother. I remember one time And my brother seriously threw a knife across it.

02:47:58 - 02:48:05 | Speaker 6:

My brother threw a knife at me, and it ended up sticking in the drywall. And then he went chasing me with this big glass ashtray that hit me in the head with.

02:48:05 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry. We're KP's in the studio, so we don't have anybody screening our calls. Who is this?

02:48:10 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

02:48:11 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Hi.

02:48:12 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, got a quick question from you. So I won Jingle Ball tickets a few weeks ago, and I just wanted to know. I didn't get any email.

02:48:20 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 4:

You're going to be – this is good to actually talk about here. This week is when they send out all the Jingle Ball tickets, but you've got to look in your email.

02:48:28 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 6:

It's all electronic tickets now.

02:48:30 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's all electronic the way that it comes to you. So whatever email you gave, keep looking in there and look in your spam folders, too, because later this week it's going to be sent out. You'll get them by next week.

02:48:40 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 5:

Okay, cool. Thank you, Mojo. We didn't forget you.

02:48:42 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 4:

Quick question. You come from a big family or a small family?

02:48:45 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 5:

I come from a family of five.

02:48:49 - 02:48:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. So do you have any sibling rivalries? Like, is there a brother or sister in your family that you just, like, you know, pester or they pester you?

02:48:59 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's pretty much my younger sister because she's, like, you know, a mom's daughter.

02:49:06 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, she's the chosen one. She's the favorite.

02:49:09 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 5:

Everything's by the books with her. And if I slip or do anything out of the ordinary, my mom hears it. So I kind of just stay away from her a little bit more.

02:49:20 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 4:

You got a patty. There's a Patty in your house. That's what we call it. In Spike's family, it's his sister Patty. All right. Thank you for the call, buddy. I appreciate you checking in with us, and congratulations on your tickets.

02:49:32 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey, thanks, Tommy. You guys have a great day.

02:49:34 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 4:

I appreciate it. Do you call me Tom? Yes, you do. I love when people do that. I just call you Tom. We're friends. I love it. He's your buddy. I love it. That's all right. Tom in the morning. What's going on? Poncho, one of our Mojo in the Morning misfits, what's happening?

02:49:49 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 5:

Morning, morning, morning. I've had my brother make me go get stitches in the back of the head because I wouldn't give him a ball. So he threw something at my head.

02:49:58 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that's... That's when you know that you got family when you got to go get stitches because of them. That's that's big.

02:50:06 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 2:

I just posted the meme of the kid with the arrow through his eye and everybody's like, don't tell mom, don't tell mom, don't tell mom. I'm so sorry. Don't tell mom because that's what siblings do. They fight until somebody has to go to the hospital. And then you're like, no, no, I'll fix it. I'll buy you anything. Just don't tell mom.

02:50:20 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 4:

What's up? Who is this? Is it Raquel? Raquel. Hi, Raquel.

02:50:25 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So when I was younger, I'm the oldest of four girls. I had to share one room with them. They had their own bunk bed, and I had my own bed, and I had to duct tape off part of the room on the carpet so they wouldn't leave their things on my side of the room.

02:50:40 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. Did it work?

02:50:42 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 1:

Because they were so young and they were so dirty. Yes, it worked because I just shoved everything on the other side of the duct tape.

02:50:48 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 4:

I shared a room with my brother, Bill, who, this is no joke, at night you used to say that he was going to kill me when my eyes were closed. Oh, my goodness. Yes. And I would cry down to my mom and dad and say, Bill's going to kill me. And my mom and dad were like, he won't do that. I'm like, he would. Seriously.

02:51:07 - 02:51:16 | Speaker 2:

I had to share a room with my sister for like the first 10 years growing up. And I built a wall between the two beds. Like, don't talk to me. Don't make noise. Don't cross this wall.

02:51:17 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:51:17 - 02:51:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The part of my bunk bed was the other half to my brother's bunk bed. So I ended up moving my bunk bed into his room and tried to share a room with him before my parents noticed. then they notice because we're about a year apart and then they're like nope gotta go back to the

02:51:30 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 4:

other room yeah that's yeah siblings you know where would we be without them hopefully they'll give they'll give us like an organ if we ever need an organ donation that's what i try to figure with

02:51:42 - 02:52:44 | Speaker 7:

mine what's up audrey hey so me and my sisters like always beat up each other and i'm the youngest so my sisters were always like terrible to me i was their punching bag um but when i was a little kid i got cancer and so my parents had to list like a fingers off policy on me and it took you having cancer your family did not pick on you because like when you go through chemo and stuff like that like you i already had sensitive skin so it grew super easily so my parents were like we're gonna know oh my goodness if i bumped the wall it was like it was nothing nothing and um And so my sister has almost put me in the hospital again one more time by, like, getting me stressed out and stuff. And it was just hilarious. And they always, like, always got in trouble if they were, like, getting into things with me. And my mom's like, no, you can't do that. So, and, well, to make up for it. We got to make a wish. So I think I can make up for it.

02:52:44 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 4:

If you got to make a wish as a little girl with cancer, did you ever want to piss off your family and say, I'm not taking you with?

02:52:51 - 02:52:57 | Speaker 7:

You know, I did, though. My sister wanted to go to Mall America or go on a cruise, and I said, no, it's my wish.

02:52:58 - 02:52:59 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:52:59 - 02:53:00 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing.

02:53:01 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 7:

What did you do for your wish? We had a wonderful time.

02:53:04 - 02:53:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what did you do on your wish?

02:53:06 - 02:53:12 | Speaker 7:

Oh, so we went to Orlando, Florida. We stayed at Give Kids to World Village. We went to Disney World, Orlando. That's cool.

02:53:13 - 02:53:14 | Speaker 6:

And you're doing great now?

02:53:15 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I'm 17 years cancer-free. Oh, amen. That's beautiful. thank you thank you thanks for letting me share my story thank you we give along great now

02:53:24 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 4:

that's cool that's nice to know uh hannah what would your sister do

02:53:29 - 02:54:00 | Speaker 5:

to my sister she's 15 years older than me and when i was little she used to tackle me to the ground to rip my loose teeth out oh my no no no no wow yeah she um yeah she likes doing that I remember the one time she had me laying on the kitchen floor and tackled me to get my tooth out. And I had friends coming over, and all my friends walked in at, like, the same time, and this was happening.

02:54:01 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's crazy. Was she trying to get your money from the tooth fairy, or what was her story?

02:54:07 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 5:

No, I think she just, like, picking on me. And I don't know if that was just, like, her way of doing it. And also, if I would stick my tongue out at her, she would drag me to the kitchen and put soap in my mouth. Oh, my God.

02:54:19 - 02:54:20 | Speaker 4:

What does she do for a living today?

02:54:22 - 02:54:23 | Speaker 5:

She's a hairstylist.

02:54:23 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 4:

She's a dentist, Mike. Yeah, that's what I thought she was going to say. What's up, Matt? How you doing?

02:54:29 - 02:54:31 | Speaker 6:

I'm good, Mojo. How are you guys doing?

02:54:31 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 4:

Good. What did your siblings do?

02:54:34 - 02:54:46 | Speaker 6:

All right. So when me and my sister were younger, we were playing hide-and-go-seek, and I decided to hide in the dryer, and she knew that I went in the dryer. No, no, no, no, no. And she turned the dryer on. No.

02:54:46 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

02:54:47 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 6:

That is so dangerous. Yeah, and you'd like some things that are in the dryer, kind of like, I don't even know what you call them, but they're clinking me around in the head and stuff. How did you get out?

02:55:00 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 2:

Well, they're older dryers, so all you had to do was kick the door and it just opened. That would be, by the way, something that would happen to me if I was skinny. They put me in the dryer. I couldn't fit in the dryer, thank God. All right, thanks for the call.

02:55:17 - 02:55:21 | Speaker 1:

All right, top trending stories of the day.

02:55:21 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 2:

A couple of stories that are in regards to the Oxford High School shooting. Did you guys realize we're coming up on a year now?

02:55:30 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 6:

I think it's tomorrow.

02:55:31 - 02:56:29 | Speaker 2:

Tomorrow, yeah. So one's breaking right now. Big story that's breaking right now. The Michigan Supreme Court temporarily halts a trial of the parents. So James and Jennifer Crumbly, the first parents to ever be charged in a mass school shooting. at issue is whether there was a probable cause or sufficient evidence to bind the crumblies over for trial and the uh the supreme court or the court of appeals um was uh convinced that their uh trial was warranted well now the supreme court has ordered that the issue go back to the appeals court for further reconsider uh consideration and um now they may not go to trial yet so they may take a little bit of time uh for this to happen now did you listen to the

02:56:29 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 6:

interview with the two people from the school board yesterday yes i'm gonna play some audio

02:56:33 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 2:

from that okay so two people from the oxford school board came out yesterday as whistleblowers to say that the school district had everything set to keep something like this from happening to keep you know this kid from shooting up the school and didn't follow any of the processes that they were trained to do and then they said also that they were kind of convinced into as a school board doing certain things because of a lawyer told them if they didn't they were going to get sued so bad that they were going to lose so much money it would cost for problems and they felt like they kind of went along with these attorneys here's a story from Fox 2 where the parents of two of the shooting victims came out to speak about this.

02:57:22 - 02:57:27 | Speaker 5:

It's more of the same. They dropped the ball, they dropped the ball, they dropped the ball, they covered it up.

02:57:27 - 02:57:44 | Speaker 4:

Another blow for Jill Suave, whose 17-year-old son, Justin Schilling, was shot and killed in the bathroom at Oxford High School almost one year ago, sitting side-by-side with attorney Venn Johnson and parents that know how she's feeling, losing their son, Tate Muir.

02:57:45 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 3:

Tater was a kind, loving soul. Loved making people laugh. Wanted to be everybody's friend.

02:57:56 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 4:

This interview Monday was to remember these lives lost during a triggering time, the one-year mark of the tragedy. He lifted everybody up.

02:58:05 - 02:58:12 | Speaker 5:

He was the first to make you laugh. He celebrated all your victories. You know, he was my biggest supporter.

02:58:12 - 02:58:39 | Speaker 4:

As they prepare for a devastating week ahead, more crushing news. With all of us, they learned this week school safety policies and procedures were never implemented at Oxford High School, according to two former school board members, including former president Tom Donnelly. Specifically, they said a step-by-step policy book never enacted that could have changed everything, especially to identify the shooter's potential threat risk.

02:58:39 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 1:

There wasn't a team together to be able to make a decision on that kid when he went into the counseling office that day.

02:58:45 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 4:

These parrots agree regardless of what should have been in place. Common sense was not. When the shooter was caught with a violent drawing the morning of the shooting, brought into the counselor's office and sent back to class with the murder weapon in his backpack.

02:59:00 - 02:59:15 | Speaker 5:

Common sense would have said that day, I'm going to look in the backpack. Could somebody have done that? How much more common sense level can you get? No, they handed it back to him. They gave the devil the keys to the kingdom. Here you go.

02:59:16 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 4:

These families were gracious enough to talk with us for quite a while about what they've gone through the last year. We'll have much more to come from them on the anniversary this Wednesday.

02:59:25 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 2:

It's wild because we said the exact same thing right after it happened. We said, how did they send that kid back to class that day? And actually, we even had Karen McDonald on with us, the Oakland County prosecutor, and that was her whole thing, was how did the parents even allow for this kid to go back to class? And that's why the parents, according to Oakland County prosecutor McDonald, should be charged with this because they, instead of parenting, let this kid have the ability to be able to have guns and then go back into class. And our thoughts and prayers. for everybody in Oxford right now. And, of course, tomorrow is going to be a very, very difficult day. All right, a couple of stories here. I've got some more ones for you. The United States Postal Service, the USPS, needs volunteer Santa Clauses to answer kids' letters this year. I know. So the USPS, they normally will do this. They actually will have people that will answer some letters that are sent to the North Pole and go to Santa Claus. And they don't have enough people because of staffing issues to be able to do it. So it's Operation Santa that will help do this. I think I could do that. I want to be the verbal Santa.

03:00:44 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. Writing letters is a tough, gruesome thing. Because you also have to think about what you're writing. You can't promise they're going to get anything because you don't know the situation.

03:00:52 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 2:

You should have seen yesterday, Jay, one of our sales guys, was trying to convince Randy, our chief engineer, that he should play Santa at the mall. Well, he's too skinny, though. Because one of his malls are looking for Santa Claus. He'd have to stuff himself. Yeah, you talked yesterday.

03:01:07 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 3:

He lost all that weight.

03:01:07 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 2:

You talked yesterday, and you're dirty, and we talked in Trending News last week about how there's a shortage of Santa Claus.

03:01:13 - 03:01:14 | Speaker 3:

There really is, yeah.

03:01:15 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 2:

Gaslighting is the word that is the word of the year in 2022. You know how they always come up with, like, what is the word of the year? Well, here you go.

03:01:26 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 1:

The word of the year for 2022 from Merriam-Webster is gaslighting. The act or practice of grossly misleading someone, especially for one's own advantage. What we're looking for for the word of the year is the words that are looked up in 2022 that were not looked up in large numbers in earlier years.

03:01:47 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 2:

And listen to this, it increased by 1,740%. I didn't know percentages could go up that high. But that's how much gaslighting went up in 2022.

03:01:57 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 1:

And our top words of the year for 2022 include cancel culture, Omicron, Oligarch, Codify, LGBTQIA, Sentient, Lomi, Raid, and Queen Consort. There you go. Queen Consort makes me laugh.

03:02:17 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 2:

Where do you guys think are the best cities for singles to go and meet people? Not here. This list just came out. Yes, not there, not here, not anywhere around here.

03:02:28 - 03:02:31 | Speaker 3:

Are they cool hipster cities like Austin and Portland?

03:02:32 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 2:

Seattle came in number one as far as the best cities. And this is the best opportunities when it comes to online dating. Best indicators are places to go out on dates. Also, most activity as far as online dating is concerned. The closest to us, Madison, Wisconsin came in number two. Denver came in number three San Francisco Number four The worst place to go to Don't go anywhere near Warwick, Rhode Island Well, duh

03:03:04 - 03:03:08 | Speaker 1:

That was on my hotspot list for 2023 So thanks for the

03:03:08 - 03:03:11 | Speaker 2:

That was going to be a vacation A little vacation destination for you

03:03:11 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 1:

I want to go to Madison so bad And Milwaukee so bad

03:03:15 - 03:03:28 | Speaker 3:

Madison's a great college town A lot of parties there But we came in 130 out of 180 That's not a good look for Detroit That's where Detroit was? Where was Toledo and Grand Rapids? I'm scanning. I didn't see either of them yet. They must be in here.

03:03:28 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You got to be. Wow, 130. That's unbelievable. That's like because Rhode Island is 180, whatever, 182. So we're not that far behind the worst.

03:03:40 - 03:03:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:03:42 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 2:

A new use for dating apps, chasing STIs. Do you guys know how during COVID they were contact tracing and you could get an alert sent to you saying you were around somebody that had COVID? Well, dating apps doing the same exact thing. So if you previously met somebody on a dating app and were exposed to them and they have a sexually transmitted infection, the contact tracing would come that way. It actually would alert you that you were with a person.

03:04:11 - 03:04:15 | Speaker 1:

That's really smart. But how does that work with HIPAA?

03:04:16 - 03:04:18 | Speaker 2:

You know, that I don't know. Well, it's fine.

03:04:19 - 03:04:36 | Speaker 3:

HIPAA only applies to medical experts and insurance experts. I mean, professionals. Because you are disclosing that information. So then you're getting your permission. You're opting in to either share the info or to receive the info. They're a dating app. They're not medical or insurance. So there's no HIPAA law.

03:04:37 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Another reason why you shouldn't be vaping if you're vaping, it can ruin your smile. There's an increased risk of developing dental cavities. Those people that vape actually have higher cavities than those that don't vape. And can you guys guess what the number one phrase that men hate to hear the most? What is the number?

03:05:00 - 03:05:07 | Speaker 7:

03:05:07 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 6:

03:05:12 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 7:

03:05:19 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 1:

03:05:23 - 03:05:53 | Speaker 7:
