Mojo. This show's up. And the rocket's red glare.

00:02:41 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 2:

You're not being logical is what I'm saying.

00:02:42 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 1:

This is like an orgasm and a cop.

00:02:50 - 00:03:42 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:42 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 1:

it's so cold in the day how the hell do we post to keep peace what's all on somebody's mind working and doing time it's cold outside but i'm still looking like a daddy because A hole never gets cold.

00:04:05 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Good morning. It is cold outside. Real feel temperature is 12 degrees right now. That's what the feels feels like. So feel. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It was so cold last night that my wife told me that when I take the dogs out to go do their duties, that I need to dress them. I felt like Megan. I was like, what?

00:04:38 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 1:

Finally some payback. I have to do what?

00:04:44 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

That was not a dog bark, by the way. That was what? What are we wearing today? What do they have? Those sweaters? Oh, my God. Booties? You have to do the boots. The boots are my favorite. Let me just say this to you. Well, I would definitely not put in boots on them. I was not going to do that.

00:05:00 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 3:

Although there have been times where Chelsea has asked me to, like, wash their paws off. And I'm like, do you know that I am a grown man that pays taxes? Why am I doing this stuff? So, yes, we got into a discussion about how cold it was. And the dogs just got groomed so they don't have as much fur on them right now. And, by the way, I want to bring this up not because of any other reason then. And I want to know, are there any other idiots like me that had to put clothes on their animals? Like, are there any people that actually, like, do this?

00:05:34 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 5:

I love this. This is my favorite topic.

00:05:37 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. So last night, so first off, I taped me doing it. And you can, I want you to know this. I am definitely a heavy breather, okay? All right? I'm a larger man. But after I watched the video of this and I was listening back to the video, I'm like, it was like I was moving a couch. Trying to get these little dogs in their things. Here, take a listen to this. Hold on. Let me see what we got here.

00:06:06 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 2:

Are you ready? I'm going to put this on you. And then I'm going to put this on you.

00:06:15 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 5:

I thought they were being so good.

00:06:17 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

This on you. So, hey, what do you guys think? You like them?

00:06:28 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm just staring at you. Yeah, okay. I take them outside. First off, let's hear that. This is me.

00:06:35 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 2:

How many flights of stairs did you have to climb?

00:06:37 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 3:

None. There was not one stair. It was just me trying to get these little paws, Henry and Louie's little paws, into their sweaters. There I am outside with them. There.

00:06:49 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 2:

We're going potty. Yeah. The neighbors don't see them. Why am I the one without?

00:06:57 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:06:58 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 2:

Any kind of coat on? Yeah.

00:07:00 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 1:

I have a question for you because I have the same dog as you. Charlie is the same dog. And I bought him a vest last year for the same reason because these little dogs, I'm so nervous that they're going to freeze their buns off. But he will not wear it because I feel like maybe mine's too big. It covers up his pee-pee. And then he just pees all over it.

00:07:19 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 3:

They actually, there was a, like where their pee-pee is.

00:07:24 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 1:

Right.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 3:

In their butthole.

00:07:26 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 1:

There's like a hole. But he's still, maybe he's just a messy peer like my son.

00:07:30 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 3:

He's like me. He's everywhere.

00:07:31 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it goes all over the place.

00:07:33 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 1:

No matter what.

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

This conversation is driving me nuts.

00:07:36 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

Everybody that made fun of you is now doing it?

00:07:38 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, not only that, I was ruthlessly bullied for clothing my dog, which is an absolute necessity. And then as soon as Mojo needed to do it, listen to Shannon, oh, I bought my dog a jacket. I've never bullied you.

00:07:51 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 1:

By the way, uh-uh. Set the record straight. I have always complimented Coraline's outfits. You are wrong there. She's a little fashionista.

00:08:00 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

I have full-on bullied you. Full-on bullied you. Mike will never put anything on his cat, right, Mike? No, not a chance at all.

00:08:07 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

By the way, if you go to Five Below, I was just there the other day, they have matching fuzzy sockies for owner and doggy.

00:08:14 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Whoever has mojo for secret Santa. Yes.

00:08:18 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

There are a plethora of options.

00:08:21 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 4:

I'm so mad.

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Amy. How you doing?

00:08:25 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. How are you guys?

00:08:27 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 3:

Amy doing good. Feeling a little emasculated, demasculated. What would it be that I actually had to clothe my animals last night?

00:08:38 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 4:

Hey, at least they're willing to be clothed.

00:08:41 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You also have a dog that doesn't like to do this?

00:08:45 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. My dog loves to do this. He has a full wardrobe. Oh, jeez. He's spoiled rotten. And, Shannon, I have those matching socks from Five Below.

00:08:54 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. What's the most interesting wardrobe that you have? Like, does your dog have, like, a smoking jacket or something?

00:09:01 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, I did just buy him a little dog coat from the new Shinola line.

00:09:08 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. What does that cost? This canine is dressed better than me.

00:09:13 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 4:

Yes, he's very well dressed.

00:09:17 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 2:

Are you single, Amy?

00:09:19 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not.

00:09:20 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 3:

I was just curious. I knew where you were going with that. I was thinking the same thing, too. thinking you know what you treat them like your your your partner right so exactly that's my that's

00:09:31 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 4:

my baby until i have a baby so there you go yeah all right well thank you for the call amy appreciate

00:09:37 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 3:

it send us pictures okay reese's here's the deal reese post this and then ask tell people uh you know that they should post pictures of their animals in their coats okay or whatever clothing they have so everybody participates with us uh what's up alex yo what's up how you doing alex you do the same thing

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 7:

With your doggy

00:10:01 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 6:

It's my cat And it is honestly Me and my wife we know that they're not going to keep it on But just watching them in it for the short time It is hysterical

00:10:12 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 7:

You know what Any kind of cat videos are good videos right We were talking yesterday about the cats knocking the Christmas tree over This is actually kind of fun Watching a cat try to put it on clothing

00:10:22 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah it is

00:10:24 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 7:

That's wild What's your cat's name

00:10:26 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 6:

Well we have the bean and jinxed

00:10:30 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 7:

Oh wow And which one of them is more cooperative Trying to put on the clothing

00:10:34 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 6:

Neither

00:10:36 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 7:

Yeah they both are a pain in the ass

00:10:39 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 6:

Yeah pretty much

00:10:41 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 7:

Do you feel like that's a sign That maybe you shouldn't put it on the cat

00:10:45 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 6:

Oh well It's funny

00:10:48 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 3:

I like that we bring these Wild animals into our home Domesticate them and then we shave them all down so they can look pretty like we think they should look. I know. And then, oh, you don't have enough hair now. We got to make you wear outfits like we wear because we don't grow. By the way,

00:11:03 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:

sometimes the groomer just does it because they're matted and you don't have a choice. Yeah. It's the worst. They come back looking like little rats. Well, here's

00:11:11 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 7:

the thing with us is that we wanted to have them look all sweet and nice for the holiday, and we also were experiencing like 50-something degree weather. So we figured, okay, well, no problem. Well, then it goes down to 12 degrees like it is right now. and it just happens so fast. The funniest is, if you have experienced this with Charlie or Megan with Coraline, do you ever go to the door because they know they want to go out, they step two feet out or two paws out, and then they turn right back in and come right in?

00:11:39 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 4:

If it's snowing or raining, he's like, yeah, right.

00:11:42 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 7:

I'm not going out there. I will go in a place where she will find it later.

00:11:45 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, which is very true.

00:11:48 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 7:

Hi, Sam. What's going on?

00:11:49 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 6:

Hi. We used to put our old daughter's onesies on our dog.

00:11:55 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really? That's actually not a bad idea. Then you don't have to buy, you know, doggy ones. Although, is there a spot for them to do their duty?

00:12:04 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 6:

Well, when you just take them outside, you just unbutton it.

00:12:09 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 7:

Okay, all right.

00:12:10 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 6:

It's actually kind of a genius idea.

00:12:11 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 3:

You unbutton it, and that's where all your dignity comes out.

00:12:15 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 7:

Somebody says that we were talking about Shinola with our first caller of the morning. I can't remember what was her name again. Amy.

00:12:23 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even know they had dog outfits.

00:12:24 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 7:

Listen to this, Carhartt has stuff too Really? Harley, what's going on?

00:12:29 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 6:

We have two Huskies and one is always cold The other day we bought him a Carhartt jacket And we got them for both dogs Because you can't do one without the other, right?

00:12:42 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 3:

Well see, a Husky can wear Carhartt Mojo's dog, it's not his personality to have a Carhartt They don't even come in their size Like Caroline should have skinny jeans, you know There's just different clothes for different animals

00:12:52 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 5:

My dog has a beanie that she wears She does not. She does wear a little.

00:12:57 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because then that's where the little accent starts, right?

00:13:01 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 7:

What does Coraline sound like when Coraline's wearing the beanie?

00:13:04 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay, wait. This is the best.

00:13:06 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 5:

She has an accent. She used to be Russian, and I feel like that's inappropriate in today's climate. She was the Russian-Italian greyhound, and that to me was hysterical. But it used to be, hello, my name is Coraline or beanie because I'm very cool. It's cold outside, but I still have to look good. I'm looking for the photographs on the Instagram. Mom gets no likes on her post unless it's me. That's what he's in my head constantly when he's around, by the way.

00:13:38 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 7:

What's that, Harley?

00:13:39 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 6:

The best part of putting the coats on the dogs is when we got home, the one that's always hot, thought he was so cool, and I was so glad we bought both of them. After about an hour, we realized he thought he was wearing a life jacket and was going out on the boat.

00:13:54 - 00:13:55 | Unknown:

Smart dogs.

00:13:55 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 7:

That's funny. Thank you for the call. Have a great day, okay?

00:14:00 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 6:

You do.

00:14:01 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 7:

All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:14:03 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:14:09 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 7:

By the way, Amy, the first caller of the morning, said she also has Carhartt stuff for her dogs, too. That dog, I'm telling you, that dog's more spoiled than any of our children. All right. This is a chance to win tickets to see the Lions play this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I'll give you three things that happened in one specific year. You tell us the year you win the prize. This was the year that Justin Bieber's smiling mugshot after an assault charge went viral.

00:14:34 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, I wouldn't be smiling if I were you, young Justin Drew Bieber, because a mugshot is nothing to be proud of.

00:14:41 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 7:

How I Met Your Mother had its season finale in this year.

00:14:45 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

See, kids, right from the moment I met your mom, I knew I have to love this woman as much as I can for as long as I can and I can never stop.

00:14:54 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 7:

And Meghan Trainor

00:14:55 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 5:

had the big song on the radio. What year was it?

00:15:04 - 00:15:05 | Speaker 4:

We'll set you up with a prize.

00:15:05 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 3:

Good luck. You're smart. You remember the year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE. Damn. It's so cold I can barely stand outside for the four minutes I'm outdoors every day. This is Mojo in the Morning. We gonna take you back in the... It's Mojo in the Morning. It's back in the day. Tell us when this stuff happened.

00:15:27 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 4:

It was the year that Justin Bieber's mugshot was trending after he got arrested for an assault charge.

00:15:33 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, I wouldn't be smiling if I were you, young Justin Drew Bieber, because a mugshot is nothing to be proud of.

00:15:40 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 4:

How I Met Your Mother's final episode aired in this year.

00:15:42 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 3:

You see, kids, right from the moment I met your mom, I knew I have to love this woman as much as I can for as long as I can, and I can never stop loving her.

00:15:53 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 5:

Because you know I'm all about that bass, about that bass, no trouble. Megan Traynor. Big song.

00:16:01 - 00:16:04 | Speaker 4:

What year was it? We'll set you up with the prize. Candy, what year was that?

00:16:06 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 5:

2014.

00:16:07 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 4:

Yes, it was. Congratulations.

00:16:10 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:16:11 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 4:

We're going to set you up with the prize. What gave it away for you?

00:16:16 - 00:16:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my boys are obsessed with how I met your mother.

00:16:18 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, yeah. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with the prize, okay?

00:16:23 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

00:16:24 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 4:

For me, it was the Meghan Trainor song, which made me think. I don't know. Made me go, oh, okay, I remember playing that song. Oh, hold on. Anytime you say Meghan Trainor on the station, the song goes on. On our TikTok. We're going to give you tickets to go see the Lions play this weekend, so hang on the phone for just one second, okay? Awesome. We have tickets for Jingle Ball, which is Tuesday night happening in downtown Detroit, Little Caesars Arena. Everybody's going to be there. You've heard the lineup. Obviously, everybody's excited for the Backstreet Boys. Kid Leroy, Khalid, Tate McRae, AJR. Text to win. Text BALL, B-A-L-L, right now to 95500. And you could be going. Text BALL, B-A-L-L. Simple as that. And you could be going to Jingle Ball. Standard tax and data rates do apply. We'll have tickets every single hour here on the show.

00:17:23 - 00:17:25 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:17:26 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 4:

All right, Dirty on the 30. Shannon, what's going on?

00:17:29 - 00:18:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, Kim Kardashian has declined an offer from Balenciaga. So they wanted Kim to do a 2023 campaign. And they threw it her way before the controversial child BDSM ads went live that we've been talking about all week. Once those ads went public, Kim made the decision to reject the offer to do anything with Balenciaga next year. And I'm told she did that even before releasing a statement on the issue saying she was re-evaluating her relationship with the design house. Do we believe that? I mean, I don't know.

00:18:01 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 4:

She took so long to actually come out with her statement. It almost made you wonder if she was kind of like, all right, guys, I'm not doing this thing now.

00:18:07 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Why wouldn't she come out with this statement sooner? sooner and also why wouldn't she say that in the statement so that's causing me to raise an eyebrow here but she also had plans to wear balenciaga outfits at a whole bunch of events she's attending in the next couple of months that's not happening i'm told she's contacted other designers for new options instead that 70s show actor danny masterson's rape trial ended yesterday in a mistrial jurors said they were unable to reach a decision on whether he was innocent or guilty so the jury deadlocked after hearing weeks and weeks of testimony including from the three women who accused danny of raping them at his hollywood hills home in the early 2000s he faced up to 45 years in prison if he was found guilty his attorney said afterward that he was going to move forward to have the charges dismissed saying the jury's leanings toward acquittal speaks volumes now a date for a new trial was set for march of next year and i heard

00:19:07 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 4:

this morning on the news that the judge said he wasn't going to let the prosecution come back with another trial. This guy was going to get completely off on this. Yeah, I don't know.

00:19:16 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 2:

It's interesting. They set a trial for like March 20-something, but I don't know if that's

00:19:19 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 4:

going to happen. I really wonder, I mean, I wonder if they'll talk to the jurors, if the media will talk to the jurors and find out what the holdup was with, in how many jurors were held up. They

00:19:28 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 2:

already did. They already did. I could tell it to you. Was it a lot or was it just like one particular? Hang on, hang on, hang on I saw the counts for it And it was really, really interesting

00:19:39 - 00:19:49 | Speaker 4:

Was it evenly split or was it We'll have to find out what that is Does it only take one? Here we go One juror can hold it up

00:19:49 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Here we go On one of the rape charges Only two of the twelve jurors Wanted to find him guilty While four were in favor of a guilty verdict On the second rape charge and only

00:20:00 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 4:

Only five voted to convict him on the third.

00:20:02 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:20:02 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

00:20:03 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 3:

Do you think there was a Scientologist on that jury?

00:20:06 - 00:20:10 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Did you ever see that movie with John Cusack and Gene Hackman?

00:20:10 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I like that movie. No, where they... What movie?

00:20:12 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 2:

It was where they put a...

00:20:14 - 00:20:14 | Speaker 3:

Don't spoil it.

00:20:15 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was like they messed with the jury.

00:20:18 - 00:20:28 | Speaker 3:

They were very hard to get on a jury of a very big case. Yeah. And you don't know what the ramifications of that was until the very end. What a good word for me, by the way. Yeah, good job.

00:20:28 - 00:21:22 | Speaker 4:

You wanted accolades. I gave you accolades. That felt very inauthentic. Prince William and Kate Middleton, surprising basketball fans, when they popped into the Boston Celtics game against the Miami Heat last night, the Prince and Princess of Wales sat courtside. When they came up on the Dumbo-tron, it was interesting because some fans started chanting, USA, USA. Others were booing them, and then others were cheering them. More cheers than anything else, but just a very mixed reaction. The royal couple arrived in Boston yesterday for a three-day trip, which will culminate in the Earthshot Prize Ceremony tomorrow, that prize designed to find and grow solutions for global warming. And the masked singer announced its winner for season eight last night. Who could it be? Spoiler alert. It was the harp. Oh, my God. Oh.

00:21:24 - 00:21:27 | Speaker 3:

Megan, you're going to be excited about this one. Because I was right, wasn't I? Yeah.

00:21:30 - 00:21:31 | Speaker 2:

Miley Cyrus.

00:21:31 - 00:21:44 | Speaker 3:

No, listen. She's iconic. He's not going to know. It sounds so much like her. It's not even funny. I feel like they didn't edit her voice at all.

00:21:46 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 2:

You want to unmask her? Lady Gaga. Who was it?

00:21:49 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 3:

No. Audience say it with me. Take it up. Take it up. Actress, singer, and multi-talented, multi-award winner, Amber Riley.

00:22:03 - 00:22:03 | Speaker 2:

Who?

00:22:03 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 4:

Amber Riley. How come I can't understand? She was Mercedes on Glee.

00:22:06 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 2:

I can't hear him. He screams so loud. I know.

00:22:10 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 1:

And you get all the other words because he says multi four times. Multi-award winning, multi-talented, multi-everything. Two things. And then as soon as he says the name, they play fireworks and you can't hear the name.

00:22:20 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 4:

Two things. The runner-up for this season was the Lambs, who were revealed as Grammy award-winning group Wilson Phillips, okay? And Mojo, mark your calendar, because the Masked Singer are going to be celebrating the holiday season with a special that will feature the harp and the Lambs and so many more on December 7th on Fox.

00:22:39 - 00:22:50 | Speaker 2:

If you watch that, I'm going to tell you something. We're going to have to put something else on your calendar. Give whoever wants to watch that, like, charity work to do. Do charity work instead, please.

00:22:50 - 00:22:55 | Speaker 1:

We can't wait until the date when we find out. Shannon all this time has been a secret executive producer of the show. That's why she's been talking about it.

00:22:56 - 00:22:59 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

00:22:59 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 1:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another world-famous phone scam is next.

00:23:07 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we're going to be out tonight. We're going to raise money for breaking and entering Christmas Wish. But most importantly, we're going to eat and drink. And it's going to be fun. Actually, most importantly is raising the money for breaking and entering Christmas Wish. But we do love eating and drinking and having fun. And we want you to join us at Red Robin. It's the one for everybody in Detroit. And then, Megan, you said the exact time from driving from downtown Toledo to Red Robin in Southgate off of Eureka Road would be, what, 40 minutes or something?

00:23:35 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think it was like 43 minutes on the dot.

00:23:38 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 2:

43 minutes. Okay, you can come kiss, listeners. You guys make sure you're there. And then for everybody in Grand Rapids, we'll have something special for you. And Mike will be there, by the way. Mike, you'll be here because you're coming in town for the wish on Friday, right? Yes, yep. So join us, please, the Red Robin Southgate off of Eureka Road tonight from 5 till 7, and they're going to give everything that we make during that time, the two hours to breaking and entering Christmas wish. They're good people. Time now for a phone scam. So Lorna and her family have a family-owned local business. It's a coffee shop. Spike called her up yesterday for a phone scam to scare the crap out of her, making her think that Starbucks was opening up nearby. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

00:24:23 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home with phone scams. Mojo in the Morning. Good morning. Hi, good morning. Who's this speaking? This is Lorna. Hi, Lorna. My name is Schwef Tungula, and I'm the district manager of the new business going down at the end of the strip. I just want to call and introduce myself and say hello. Hi, I'm sorry. What's your name again? My name's Schwef with a silent J, Tungula. I'm sorry. It's loud here.

00:25:00 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 5:

did you say you work for? We're actually the big corner store that's been under construction for the past four months, which reminds me, I should thank you for your patience during this mess, but construction's almost over, and we should be opening very soon. The other reason I'm calling is to see if you wanted to contribute all of the businesses at Plaza. We're talking about hiring a Santa to make an appearance the weekend before Christmas, and we're kind of asking to pull donations, whatever you could afford, and then Santa will be going in and out of our stores and also waving at the cars that drive by our lot hopefully waving a few of them into the business sure i'd be glad to you

00:25:36 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 3:

know get more info but doesn't the landlord do that do what i thought matt and his team who

00:25:41 - 00:26:05 | Speaker 5:

handled the complex handle all of that stuff oh yeah well they do all the decorating i mean let's face it they do the bare minimum i don't know if you saw the flags and the lights on the poles in the parking lot but we appreciate that but we want to go over the top we want to hire an actual santa to encourage foot traffic our business won't even be opening until next month so we're We're not even going to actually be able to take advantage of the holiday shoppers. We're just being a participant as a goodwill gesture.

00:26:06 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, we've been wondering what that store is going to be because we've been seeing the contractors go in and out of that place for the last few months. Yes.

00:26:12 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Well, if nobody told you, we're going to be a Starbucks.

00:26:17 - 00:26:17 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:26:18 - 00:26:19 | Speaker 5:

A Starbucks.

00:26:20 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 3:

Starbucks coffee?

00:26:21 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 5:

Yes, ma'am. One of our new Reserve Roastery Superstores. I don't know if you've seen them. They are beautiful inside.

00:26:28 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 3:

You're kidding.

00:26:29 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 5:

No, I know. Isn't it great? Wait till you see the buzz when the doors open.

00:26:33 - 00:26:34 | Speaker 3:

You know who you're talking to, right?

00:26:35 - 00:26:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, the name's Lorna, right?

00:26:38 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes, of the ****** Cafe. We are one of the oldest independent cafes west of Toledo.

00:26:45 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, congratulations.

00:26:48 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 3:

And you're opening a Starbucks in the same shopping center?

00:26:52 - 00:26:54 | Speaker 5:

Yes, ma'am, and we look forward to meeting you.

00:26:55 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 3:

Look, I got to be honest. I have to call the landlord, because how can there be two coffee shops on the same corner of the strip mall?

00:27:03 - 00:27:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, I mean, apparently you don't have any kind of exclusivity in your lease contracted through next year. But, hey, it's all good. We just attract more coffee consumers to the area, so we all benefit.

00:27:14 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 3:

No, we've been here for 18 years. My mom opened this coffee shop.

00:27:18 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 5:

Right, but you understand what we mean. We all benefit. It just brings more coffee drinkers to the corner.

00:27:25 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 3:

This doesn't make sense.

00:27:26 - 00:27:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, I mean, if you can't figure out, this is good for everyone, but I'd be glad to talk to you about it over a Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino Blended Beverage. Our treat.

00:27:34 - 00:27:37 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. I need to talk to Matt about this.

00:27:37 - 00:27:41 | Speaker 5:

Okay, yeah, give him a call. He spoke so highly of you, Lorna. They seem like great people.

00:27:42 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? But he's going to put a Starbucks next to me?

00:27:45 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, we're building the Starbucks. He just leased the building for 15 years.

00:27:49 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 3:

You know what? I think we're done talking here. I need to make a phone call. Okay, Lorna, wait.

00:27:52 - 00:27:59 | Speaker 5:

There's one more thing I've got to tell you. But actually, this is just Spike from the Mojo in the Morning show, and you've just been the victim of a phone scam.

00:28:00 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:28:03 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 5:

We got an email from Elena. Who's Elena?

00:28:07 - 00:28:08 | Speaker 3:

That's my mom. Okay.

00:28:08 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 5:

Your mom told us to phone scam you. You've been worried about what that business was going to be. You've been pretty nosy.

00:28:14 - 00:28:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:28:14 - 00:28:16 | Speaker 5:

As far as I know, it's not going to be a Starbucks.

00:28:17 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 3:

Okay, good, because my heart is beating out of my chest right now.

00:28:21 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 5:

That's the caffeine. Too much caffeine.

00:28:24 - 00:28:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, I love you guys. I listen to you all the time.

00:28:26 - 00:28:31 | Speaker 5:

You still love us even after you've been phone scammed? Yes, I think I might love you more.

00:28:33 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. We interrupt this message to tell you that was funny. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo, 5 at 6.55, yo, now.

00:36:50 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, two and a half years

00:36:50 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 3:

and is suspecting that her husband is cheating on her, and it's all because of something that's missing. And what's that?

00:37:00 - 00:37:00 | Unknown:

Condoms.

00:37:02 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 3:

Missing condoms at your house?

00:37:05 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

00:37:06 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 3:

So there's some missing, and you're wondering, you didn't use them. Where the hell are they?

00:37:15 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 6:

Yes, we don't use them.

00:37:16 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so you guys don't use condoms.

00:37:21 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 1:

But you found condoms.

00:37:23 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 6:

Right. Well, when we first got married, we were using them. And maybe about a year or so, a year and a half ago, we stopped using them.

00:37:31 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:37:33 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 6:

And, you know, we've got family coming in town or had family coming in town, so I was kind of cleaning everything up. I went through the winning closet and found a box of condoms. and there were, like, two missing.

00:37:48 - 00:37:50 | Speaker 3:

And you guys didn't use them?

00:37:51 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, we stopped using them. So I'm just kind of wondering what the hell is going on.

00:37:58 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 2:

Wow. All right. Wait, one question. I didn't get your whole situation. Do you guys have, like, teenagers at home?

00:38:06 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. We're relatively newlyweds. It's just the two of us.

00:38:10 - 00:38:21 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Because I've had that situation where I know A family friend who Uh oh what's going on there's condoms missing And then they realize I know the teenage boy was just too embarrassed To ask for them he snuck them

00:38:21 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 3:

You guys haven't had a birthday party And he's used them for party balloons At all or anything like that I remember when I was a kid the first time I had condoms Yeah I won't even tell the story

00:38:32 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 6:

Well now I want to know the story Wait a second

00:38:35 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 3:

I literally blew up A condom with my mouth That was bad, I know. All right, I'm sorry. We're going to find out what's going on. We hope that he sends the flowers to you. We're calling up your husband, and we hope the roses go to Aspen.

00:39:00 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 5:

Hello?

00:39:01 - 00:39:03 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I'm looking for a j***, please.

00:39:05 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 5:

This is A.

00:39:06 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Joel. Well, my name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. If you have about 30 seconds, we would love for you to take a quick survey and answer two very short questions, and we are going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses absolutely free of charge. Not going to ask you for your credit card information or anything like that. We're just trying to get our name out there as we are a new business and hope that you'll purchase flowers from us in the future. You have like 20, 30 seconds?

00:39:35 - 00:39:38 | Speaker 5:

I guess. I've never had something like this before, I guess.

00:39:39 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:39:39 - 00:39:41 | Speaker 5:

I don't have anything for anything, nothing like that.

00:39:41 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

No, no. Just, again, hopefully you'll use us if you send flowers to anybody in the future, okay?

00:39:48 - 00:39:50 | Speaker 5:

I think the key thing is free. Let's go.

00:39:51 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 1:

Free, yep. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Joel?

00:39:56 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 5:

No, I have not.

00:39:57 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers maybe in the next six months?

00:40:00 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the holidays are probably Valentine's Day. Yeah, probably. Okay. That's why I wouldn't. Okay. But I could probably use them as a mess.

00:40:08 - 00:40:20 | Speaker 4:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, like I said at the beginning of the call, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses. They can be sent out as early as today. And I just... Go ahead. Sorry.

00:40:21 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome.

00:40:23 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 4:

Say that one more time. I'm so sorry. I can't hear you.

00:40:25 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 3:

I said that's awesome.

00:40:26 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 4:

That's okay. I just need to get a first and a last name of who these are going to to start off.

00:40:33 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 3:

Aspen. And you could probably put to the love of my life, Aspen. That'd be perfect.

00:40:41 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And I'm assuming this is a girlfriend, wife.

00:40:46 - 00:40:52 | Speaker 3:

It's my wife. Yeah. Spell it correctly, too. A-S-P-E-N.

00:40:53 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:40:53 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 3:

She'll love this.

00:40:54 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:41:01 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I guess.

00:41:03 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay, great.

00:41:05 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 1:

Joel, I'm going to complete the call, and then we're going to send those flowers. And I will work for the same person that she works for.

00:41:17 - 00:41:17 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:41:18 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 1:

And we're going to get the phone number, and then we're going to send those flowers. But I also need to let you know one last thing. What's up? while we were talking to you and you were sending the flowers that Aspen was on the phone line listening and just heard you send her flowers.

00:41:37 - 00:41:38 | Unknown:

Hey, Ben. Hey.

00:41:38 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Joel. What's all this? I'm assuming just by listening to this, just a thought that maybe you knew that it was us calling.

00:41:50 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 3:

Who, me?

00:41:51 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Did you know that this was Mojo in the morning? no not at all so so you you uh legitimately were sending your wife flowers why wouldn't i no i i'm not going to question that i just sometimes sometimes people know who we are when they do it they know the game and they play play some uh you know stuff with us and then we

00:42:19 - 00:42:30 | Speaker 3:

find out later they knew but no no no not at all not at all that's what that's sort of a little taken back by the fact that you would even think something like that i apologize i'm sorry it's

00:42:30 - 00:42:56 | Speaker 1:

just from uh the fact that it's it's been history before but i i do want to let you know that we do this where we give people an opportunity to find out who their spouse is going to send flowers to because usually there's a suspicion and Aspen was a little freaked out when she noticed that, and Aspen, maybe you can explain, what did you see?

00:42:57 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was cleaning the linen closet and I found a box of condoms and there were some missing and, you know, we don't use them. What condoms? You know, the ones that were in the back of the linen closet.

00:43:10 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 3:

What closet was it?

00:43:11 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 2:

is the linen closet in the front hallway with all the towels in it, beach towels.

00:43:18 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 3:

What?

00:43:19 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's a box of condoms in the back, and there's two more things.

00:43:23 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 3:

They've been there forever. They've been there forever. I don't even go into that linen closet.

00:43:32 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 1:

So you have not, you didn't even know you had those.

00:43:36 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 3:

I haven't been using those for forever.

00:43:40 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 4:

But you remember condoms being there? Because you said they've been there forever, so.

00:43:44 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, those are things we've been using for a long time ago. They've been stashed in that closet forever. I'm sure we could find a freaking dead body in there, too, the way we keep that living closet.

00:43:54 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 2:

That's why I was cleaning it out. And that's when I found it.

00:43:59 - 00:43:59 | Unknown:

No.

00:43:59 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 1:

So are we safe to assume that they've been in there forever and that you guys used all the condoms? You guys used them together No, I want to ask Joel

00:44:11 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm not going to lie That's a little too much information You know what I mean? We've been beyond that for quite some time now

00:44:20 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean too much information? Too much information asking you about Yeah

00:44:26 - 00:44:29 | Speaker 4:

Wait, I'm so confused What's he embarrassed about?

00:44:30 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 1:

Because I'm asking them if they have sex with each other

00:44:33 - 00:44:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you know what I mean? You know, he just went from having flowers for you doing some civil service or something. I don't know.

00:44:39 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

We're just hoping at some point you guys did actually consummate the relationship. I have to be honest with you that, you know, this is a very uncomfortable situation to be accused of. Tell me about it. No, I get that. But I also sometimes, I don't know, sometimes I listen to guys that we've in the past.

00:45:00 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 3:

and we have busted a lot of guys over time cheating on their spouses. And I always think to myself, I'm like, do they think that we're dumb? Because I don't know.

00:45:11 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 6:

I don't think so. But I also think that you really don't understand that sometimes, you know, in this day and age, Shippewa is dead. So, you know, trying to do a good thing for my wife. Unfortunately, she feels something, thinks something that I would never in a million years

00:45:25 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 3:

ever do something to hurt her. All right. We are going to send the flowers So hang on one second We'll let you guys talk off the air Okay

00:45:34 - 00:45:36 | Speaker 6:

Thank you so much

00:45:36 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 3:

And we will ask our listeners What they think Because I don't know Thoughts

00:45:51 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 6:

This is Mojo in the Morning World's famous This is the home of the War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

00:46:01 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses. Kind of confusing here. So Aspen calls us up because she suspects something's going on when she notices that condoms are missing from a box of condoms that they had that she knows that they did not use together. We called up her husband, and he was kind of a character. wasn't he? I just had this sense from the start of it that something was not right like I don't know I'm not trying to doubt anybody that does send flowers to their spouse like when they do it it's nice but Jules did you have any doubts in your mind or am I just like got drama brain going? No absolutely

00:46:46 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 5:

from the get go he was really sketchy he first didn't know what closet it was How do you not know what closet you have in your own house? Two, he didn't know that he had the box of condoms, and then all of a sudden, wow, those have been there forever. So it just kind of seemed like he backtracked on himself a little bit.

00:47:07 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, that is interesting. It is interesting. You know, it's like, I didn't know he still had it. Oh, yeah, what are those kind of, you know. Like, I couldn't tell you what's inside of a medicine cabinet or, you know, linen closets or any of that stuff.

00:47:21 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 5:

Right, but girls, no. Especially in their own home, because we're usually not things that don't, but we're usually the ones that pick up and know where things are. Sure.

00:47:30 - 00:47:37 | Speaker 1:

She knows. I always have to ask Chelsea. Some of my closets are a black hole, guys. Yeah. I'm going to be honest with you. Yeah. I couldn't tell you what's in the back of them.

00:47:37 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 3:

And Aspen actually kind of insinuated that it was kind of a mess closet. But I will say this, that I have to, as a guy, ask Chelsea where everything is. And maybe this guy is not. Maybe this, you know, Joel is not. But, Alan, what are your thoughts?

00:47:52 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 8:

My thoughts are, if he is truly cheating, why would he hide condoms in a linen closet where she could find them?

00:47:59 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 2:

Right. It would be a very dumb hiding place because I'm guessing she's the one, you know, bringing stuff in and out of that closet. I know. So it'd be right there.

00:48:11 - 00:48:18 | Speaker 3:

Can I say something? Right. I got this. There was nothing about him hiding them in there. That's where they kept them, I think.

00:48:18 - 00:48:21 | Speaker 4:

They both knew. I guess they kept them there, yeah.

00:48:21 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 8:

But who keeps – what couple keeps condoms? Don't you keep them in your nightstand so they're convenient when you need them? Or running down the hall?

00:48:28 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 3:

Either that or maybe that's their place that they also keep their Tylenol and, you know.

00:48:33 - 00:48:49 | Speaker 4:

My guess was, well, they don't want anyone to see them anymore. They don't use them. They just didn't throw them away, so they just put them on the top shelf in the back and weren't thinking about them. But, I mean, it's – his reaction was a little weird. But also, how did she know exactly how many are in there if they just threw them up there and don't use them anymore?

00:48:49 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 2:

She recently found them though and counted them Like I get that

00:48:54 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 4:

But she was saying there wasn't as many in there as usual Yeah she said there was two missing

00:48:57 - 00:49:14 | Speaker 3:

Michelle what's up It's Mojo in the Morning War of the Roses We actually had the flowers sent to The right person The person that we were hoping that they were going to go to But we're never satisfied with that We have doubts What's up Michelle's going to take off

00:49:14 - 00:49:18 | Speaker 2:

Am I the only one that is I don't know maybe I'm naive but I kind of believe him

00:49:18 - 00:49:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:49:19 - 00:49:20 | Speaker 2:

I do.

00:49:20 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 3:

People are talking about expiration date, and I don't understand the expiration date comments. A lot of the texters are saying this. Let me grab Craig who said one of the comments. What were we going to say, Shannon?

00:49:30 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Well, you can take Craig first, but I just looked this up because I was curious how long condoms are good for.

00:49:37 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 3:

Craig, why were you talking about expiration dates?

00:49:40 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 7:

Mojo, what's going on, bud?

00:49:42 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 3:

Nothing much, man. What's going on?

00:49:44 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 7:

Hey, yeah, so I work in retail, so there are definitely code dates on items. You know, you realize shampoo, all those different things, and code dates are definitely on condoms. So Aspen, all I do is check the code date. It's been more than a couple years since they've used them, and I think the code date.

00:50:00 - 00:50:02 | Speaker 8:

date on most condoms are probably no more than

00:50:02 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 4:

two years. But what does that have to do with

00:50:04 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 9:

this? It's up to five. Five years. Wow. Up to five years they're good for.

00:50:07 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, are you saying that this guy is using bad condoms then if he's cheating?

00:50:12 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 8:

No, I'm saying like if they've been sitting in the closet and they both have not used them for a couple years and they haven't been agreeing that they haven't used them, there's your answer. They've been sitting in there for five years.

00:50:22 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 4:

But the rapper wouldn't disintegrate.

00:50:24 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 9:

You know? And they only stopped using them a year and a half ago. So they'd still be good. Yeah, but if he's cheating,

00:50:29 - 00:50:32 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, but if the co-dates are newer compared to what they're going to store.

00:50:32 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 9:

Oh, I see what you mean. Okay, yeah.

00:50:34 - 00:50:35 | Speaker 3:

You're thinking he's replacing them.

00:50:36 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 8:

Then, obviously, he's not using them for Aspen if they're new.

00:50:39 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I see what you mean. Yeah, that kind of threw me for a little bit of a loop. This one's going to throw everybody for a loop. Tara, what is your theory to this?

00:50:48 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 2:

Well, my theory potentially is that my significant other uses him for his own personal sexy time.

00:50:55 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 5:

What? Wait.

00:50:57 - 00:50:57 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

00:50:58 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 5:

Easier clean-up?

00:50:59 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 2:

I'm not sure if that's just the quirk of him or if more people do that, but maybe, like, I don't know how they would keep an exact count if they're not using them currently.

00:51:07 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 9:

He doesn't use the sock. Isn't that what guys do? Don't they use a sock?

00:51:11 - 00:51:12 | Speaker 4:

Towel or T-shirt or anything else?

00:51:12 - 00:51:14 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, or like a washcloth or something.

00:51:14 - 00:51:19 | Speaker 4:

Let's move on. I don't know. No guy wants to talk about this. That's really interesting.

00:51:19 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 3:

But if he's doing that, he used more than two in the last year and a half. That's true. That whole box you've been on.

00:51:26 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 4:

That's interesting that your guy does this. How old are you guys?

00:51:31 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 2:

We are in our early 30s.

00:51:33 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's interesting. That sounds to me.

00:51:35 - 00:51:36 | Speaker 2:

That's weird.

00:51:36 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 4:

That sounds like a teenager thing.

00:51:39 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 3:

I've heard of that before. And to me, I don't know why you'd want to do that, but I've heard guys do it.

00:51:46 - 00:51:51 | Speaker 4:

Ken wants to defend Joel. What's up, Ken? Are you a friend of Joel's?

00:51:53 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely not.

00:51:54 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 4:

Why do you want to defend them?

00:51:56 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 7:

I'm not necessarily saying defend them, but, I mean, you know, why would you go into a closet if both you and your wife knew they were in there and take her from there? Why would you just go to a store?

00:52:07 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that seems logical. I mean, really, if you're cheating, why are you using the home condoms, you know?

00:52:12 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah, and then, you know, on top of that, it seems like, you know, any time somebody calls up and it's like, you know, to me, it seems like you guys aren't happy unless they're proven guilty. Like, every single time.

00:52:25 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 4:

Listen here, Your Honor. You're out of order. I'm not allowed.

00:52:29 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 9:

I just said I think he's telling the truth, which doesn't happen very often.

00:52:34 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 7:

That's just what I get. Like, I knew it was coming as soon as he said, you know, you sent it to his wife that you guys are going to start.

00:52:40 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 4:

Ken, do you think that we love people's misery, Ken?

00:52:44 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 7:

A little bit.

00:52:45 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 1:

But we also do this every week, and every week they're cheating. So, like, the statistics are in our favor.

00:52:53 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 7:

I don't know You know I just feel that You made quite a few assumptions About the wife always putting the linen away Trying to say that she sits around the house And does wifely things all the time

00:53:07 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 3:

Well no she's the one that said She cleaned out the closet And she likes to straighten things up And he didn't even know they had a linen closet And you know they laid that bed We didn't imply anything about gender stereotypes

00:53:19 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 7:

Yeah But my wife said go to the linen closet I don't know which closet I would go to, to be honest.

00:53:25 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 4:

I agree.

00:53:26 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 7:

The same bathroom or outside of it. You know, I have different terms for different things.

00:53:31 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 4:

I know. I know. Well, he got a little defensive fast on our conversation, which kind of scared me. But, Ken, I appreciate your call. And you sound like a longtime listener because you're absolutely right. We always just assume everybody's cheating. What's going on? Rob had a similar situation. I want to hear this story.

00:53:48 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, absolutely. Good morning again. Good morning. Like, so me and my wife, first of all, we've been there for about almost 16 years. We were newlyweds as well. She drove my truck one time, and she said she found some condoms. I had, like, a box speaker. This is back when, you know, you had box speakers in your truck or whatever. And I had a box speaker in the truck, and she said she found some condoms underneath the box speaker. And I swore, I'm like, I have no idea where they came from, you know, maybe my brother or friend, whatever. But I've never cheated on my wife. She found the condoms. I had no idea where they were, where they were from. So, I mean, it does happen. I mean, men don't actually cheat, you know. There is sometimes that things just happen like that, you know, and they could have been in there for a while and had the truck for a while. So I had no idea they were in there. I didn't use them, you know. So she believes me. And then, I mean, I honestly believe, you know, and you guys are not wrong because, like, literally I listen to the show every week and nine times out of ten you guys bust a cheater. So, I mean, it is quite common, but I'm kind of on the guy's side. I mean, I don't know half the things that are in my house. So, I mean, there's a strong possibility that that is the truth. And, you know.

00:55:00 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 5:

He just wanted to send some flowers, especially if he didn't have to pay any money to his wife, you know?

00:55:04 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 3:

And we are sending flowers.

00:55:05 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 2:

If he had stopped there, it probably wouldn't have been a big issue. I think he started to sound defensive and started to raise questions for us where there were no questions.

00:55:13 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 3:

Rob, we appreciate your listenership. Thank you, buddy. Thanks for being a part of the show. Absolutely, thank you, guys. Take care. Allie, you caught your boyfriend cheating this way.

00:55:23 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so I caught my boyfriend cheating by looking at the expiration dates on his condom.

00:55:29 - 00:55:30 | Speaker 3:

Tell us. What happened?

00:55:31 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 6:

He was replacing his condoms in his condom box every single time that he used one. Because he knew that I would look in there and count and be able to see if they were missing.

00:55:43 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Interesting. So there was always the same number, but you noticed he was rotating through them. They weren't the same ones.

00:55:51 - 00:55:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, because he would get new ones that have a fresher expiration date. Right. Okay.

00:55:56 - 00:56:04 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's pretty amazing Hold on a second Dina wants to comment on this What's that Dina? You're on with Allie too?

00:56:05 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 5:

Hi yeah I just want to say first of all I love you guys I listen every morning We love you too Thank you I want to say that I'm actually on the side of the guy I'm usually not But in this case I think people are jumping overboard I think that if anything This wife I mean she's counting Condoms for Who knows how long the condoms have been in there I mean, I'll see if it was a brand new box of condoms They both said that they've been in there a long time I mean, they could have taken one out Put it at the nightstand, forgot about it I think she's the one who's toxic In this situation

00:56:39 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you think her looking at the box of condoms Because I got Allie on with us right now She caught her boyfriend cheating because she counted condoms And looked at condoms You think that's a toxic thing to do?

00:56:49 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 5:

I think it is in this situation I don't know about Allie's situation But in this situation, it sounds like they had been in there a long time they both admitted to that i mean i think i don't know ally's situation but unless it's like okay a very recent scenario where we just bought the condom it's a new box of condoms but in this case they both admitted it had been in there a long time i think his wife might have just jumped to conclusions and i don't think that uh people are saying oh he didn't know that they had a closet he never said that he said which closet yeah yeah he didn't know what he's just talking about when she said linen closet um yeah i mean people are i mean i'm on the side of this guy i really do think he was sincere this is by the way history in the making women are sticking

00:58:16 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 4:

This is the phone scam station, which means you'll have a reason to laugh this morning at 7.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:58:23 - 00:58:25 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:25 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:58:28 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, it is a Good Morning America romance. A romance with a scandal attached. Anchors Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, who are both technically married, have been hooking up for months. Now, if you remember, if you're a Good Morning America watcher, We have it on in the studio all morning. But TJ joined Amy on GMA3. It's that spinoff, like, third hour of Good Morning America in 2020. And since then, they've covered a whole bunch of events together, including running in the New York City Half Marathon this past March. They were at the Queen's Jubilee together, formed an instant friendship. Everybody who's worked with them said they were very, very close. And now we know it's more than that. Amy has been married to Melrose Place alum Andrew Hsu since 2010. Meanwhile, TJ is in an 11-year marriage with an attorney named Marilee Feibag. Well, the Daily Mail yesterday published photos of Amy and TJ getting cozy all over New York. At a pub in Times Square, at each other's apartments, at a cabin in upstate New York, where they published a photo of TJ grabbing Amy's butt as they were loading up the car, packing up the car to go home. Both have since deactivated their Instagram accounts as this information is getting leaked. And I'm told that both also left their respective partners back in August.

00:59:44 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 3:

You know who the Amy Robach's partner was? It was Andrew Shue. From Melrose Place. From Melrose, Party of Five. Yeah.

00:59:51 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 1:

Wait, was he in Party of Five?

00:59:52 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. He was? Yes.

00:59:54 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh.

00:59:55 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:59:55 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:59:56 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 3:

I think he was.

00:59:57 - 00:59:58 | Speaker 1:

I don't remember.

00:59:58 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm looking it up right now.

01:00:00 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 2:

But let me just say this to you.

01:00:01 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 3:

I know Melrose Place.

01:00:02 - 01:00:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to look on ABC. I'm going to keep the channel on all morning. You want to know why I want to keep it on all morning? Now they're going to be acting all. I want to see if those guys are going to be on there today.

01:00:13 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 3:

So I'm watching and they haven't been on yet. Yeah, I know. Well, I mean, again, both have now left their partners. So I know Amy and her husband sold the apartment that they shared in New York City a couple of months ago.

01:00:26 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 2:

I might be wrong. Maybe he wasn't on Party of Five. For sure Melrose Place, but yeah, that's okay. Okay.

01:00:30 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 3:

I love that party if I've got a shout-out today.

01:00:32 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:00:34 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 3:

Christine McVie, the Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter who wrote huge, huge hits like Little Lies and this one, Don't Stop, has passed away. She died in a hospital surrounded by her family, 79 years old. Family said that she suffered from a short illness. Stevie Nicks wrote a letter About her dear dear friend And said she's in so much pain After losing her best friend in the whole world She said she had no clue That Christine was sick Until she passed Until this past weekend She wanted to go be with her She was told no no no it's not a good time Just wait never got to say her goodbye She finished her letter See you on the other side my love Don't forget me So sad Yesterday, Brittany Aldean, wife of Jason Aldean Posted a photo of herself throwing out all of her Balenciaga handbags One of many to do that

01:01:31 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 2:

I'm waiting for more celebrities to do this

01:01:33 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 3:

Following, yeah, the controversy Surrounding that campaign

01:01:36 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 2:

That Balenciaga stuff

01:01:38 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know how much the average Balenciaga bag is I'm guessing a couple grand, right? I mean, so their now scrapped holiday campaign has been pulled for the record So you will not see it anywhere Brittany captioned her photo, by the way. It's trash day. And lastly, Sam Bankman-Fried, that crypto wonder kid behind FTX, the firm that collapsed last month. And, you know, it owes like billions and billions of dollars to its customers. Well, he is talking specifically to ABC News. And he said, yeah, he is responsible for the downfall of his company, both companies he owned. but denied that he knew that there was any improper use of customer funds.

01:02:20 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 1:

I didn't ever try to commit fraud on anyone. I was excited about the prospects of FTX a month ago. I saw it as a thriving, growing business. I was shocked by what happened this month. And, you know, reconstructing it, were there things I wish I had done differently?

01:02:40 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 3:

So the exorbitant spending that this guy and his executives undertook on the company, Dine, was insane. And I don't know if we talked at length about this. They worked from a luxury resort in the Bahamas. If you've seen pictures of this place, it's like what dreams are made of, okay? That's where the entire team was holed up as this thing was at its peak, but also when it was collapsing. Private jets, daily massages. Each staff member, get this, was allowed $200 a day for DoorDash. $200 a day to DoorDash, whatever they wanted. There was also a full suite at this hotel of cars and gas for all employees and unlimited full expense covered trips to any of its offices globally so you could take free trips. And here's the kicker to me. Amazon doesn't deliver to the Bahamas. So FTX would hire private jets to bring employees Amazon packages to those places in the Bahamas. Do you think they're hiring? Out of control.

01:03:36 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I don't think so anymore. The guy's worth a billion dollars. Now he's got $100,000. Wait, what? Yeah, that's all he has left is $100,000, they say. Bull. He's got it all in some bank account somewhere. Yeah, you know. Offshore bank account. It still hurts when he says he's broke and he's still got way more money than I have.

01:03:54 - 01:03:54 | Unknown:

Right.

01:03:55 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

They say the majority of the money was spent not on those luxury things that you just said, but orgies.

01:04:02 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was in a polyamorous relationship.

01:04:06 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 2:

They were like wildly weird sexual people.

01:04:09 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 3:

With his associates. They were all like a-

01:04:11 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 2:

How much do orgies cost? I'm out of that game. I don't know. Well, they say that it was like Jeffrey Epstein kind of stuff where they would fly people across the world to come see that.

01:04:20 - 01:04:22 | Speaker 3:

They were all doing drugs all the time, you know, to keep up.

01:04:22 - 01:04:26 | Speaker 2:

He's a weird-looking dude. You'd have to pay him a billion dollars to have sex with a guy like that.

01:04:27 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 3:

All right. For all today's dirty, check out the dirty page on thejointhemorning.com. He's got a lot of hair. You would not have sex with that guy for free. I wouldn't have sex with that guy for you.

01:04:34 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 2:

Well, with inflation, too, I'm sure orgies cost more. Even the orgies have gone up. Get more dirt at mojointhemorning.com. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30th. Hello? Hello? Hi, Kelly. How are you?

01:04:53 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Oh, my gosh. I'm freaking out.

01:04:55 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 2:

Kelly, you're a winner. Congratulations.

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Thank you so much.

01:04:59 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much.

01:05:00 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much for listening. We're going to set you up with Jingle Ball tickets for Tuesday night and $100 in Mistledoe, our Mojo's Mistledoe, plus you're qualified for $10,000.

01:05:12 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Thank you, Mojo.

01:05:14 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 3:

You are welcome. Have a great time at Jingle Ball, and let's hope you win that $10,000. So here's the deal. Everybody that wins Mojo's Mistledoe, and we do 730 and 830 right here on our show, weekday mornings, and then on Channel 955, they do it throughout the day. I think the next time after we leave is like 1230 and then in the afternoon with my son, Joe, and something like that, like three something or I don't know, whatever. Just listen to the promo or whatever. They'll tell you. And then we're going to pick five winners, I believe it is. Four will get $1,000. One will get $10,000.

01:05:50 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:05:52 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So congratulations to you.

01:05:53 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Lots of opportunities. I love it.

01:05:55 - 01:06:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's going to be cool. We'll see you. Hold on one second, okay? Morgan Wallen tickets Did you guys hear about that? Morgan Wallen We're giving those away When we make his big concert announcement At 9 o'clock this morning We have a major concert announcement Of another big concert And it's going to be A big, big concert Because I'm telling you People went crazy when they heard that he was touring 9 o'clock this morning

01:06:24 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 5:

We will have tickets too

01:06:27 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 3:

before you can buy them. We'll be the first to give you those tickets. I love when we get tickets to country artists to give away. Or, like, honestly, it's funny. I was talking to our boss. I'm like, hey, you know, you're great at, like, getting us tickets. Tony gets us these tickets. And he's like, oh, yeah. He goes, you know, he goes, we got our Taylor Swift, which obviously everybody wants Taylor Swift tickets. We got Ed Sheeran. We got those tickets and our Jingle Ball. But, you know, I was thinking, you guys, your show is one of those shows where people will listen no matter what the format is. Yeah. So he's like, I think I'm going to get you guys tickets to Metallica, you know, which is coming.

01:07:24 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 4:

Because there's a few of these shows that, I mean, they're just, they transcend any audience or genre or even age group.

01:07:31 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 3:

Morgan Wallen, our producer KP, would leave the show for Morgan Wallen, right? Like if Morgan Wallen walked in here right now and KP had all the responsibilities she had, she would say, Mojo, who? Morgan, yes. Right? On the tour bus. She's getting the winner's information in there. I've never seen people get so excited over concerts as they have been the last month with Taylor and Morgan Wallen.

01:07:58 - 01:08:05 | Speaker 1:

One of our sales executives just texted me and said, can I get a pair of those Morgan tickets, please? Lauren, ask Tony.

01:08:06 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 3:

Lauren, if you can get a million-dollar client today by 5 o'clock, I guarantee you that Kim will get you. What's up?

01:08:14 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Lauren's going to have to fight me for it.

01:08:16 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 3:

I love it. Let's do that as a battle. Why don't we do that at 9 o'clock this morning, Lauren? Come in the studio. You, leg wrestle KP, our producer. Suddenly, KP is the 95th caller. Oh, by the way, I think, Reese, you're going in there to grab callers at that time. I got you. Don't trust her. Although, I don't know if I trust you. How about that? I wouldn't trust you either.

01:08:37 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 4:

You can easily be bought.

01:08:39 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 2:

Just on the counting part? Yeah, that's it. I'm sorry, Reese. I love you.

01:08:44 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 3:

How much did you smoke last night? Did you smoke a lot last night? I was feeling pretty good last night. He'd be like, 9 o'clock we make the solicit At about noon we'll finally get the winner He'll get through 95 calls

01:08:55 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 4:

But also, even if Reese doesn't like Morgan Wallen Imagine the date he can get With Morgan Wallen tickets to go out

01:09:02 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing the counting Alright, Mojo in the morning show So, Megan You guys may not Celebrate Christmas Or may not do a gift at home

01:09:14 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 2:

Here's the thing i don't know if i'm being a brat or not and by the fact that i brought that up probably uh but we were discussing as a family my dad my brother and i what our plans were for this christmas and i feel like i was outnumbered and that i was going to come off like a brat so i i don't know if i necessarily made my feelings well known to the group but they don't want to do a holiday

01:09:41 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 3:

gift exchange this year which is interesting because a lot of people are doing that this year they're saying they don't want to like spend the money on on the holidays because it's so crazy

01:09:51 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

right now well first of all just a little prerequisite i don't trust my dad that he won't get us stuff and if i show up empty-handed it will make me feel like a

01:10:00 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 4:

terrible daughter i know he loves us i know he wants to spoil us when he can but it does make you feel bad as an adult when you show up to something and your dad gets you a gift and you didn't give him one you're like oh that feels bad but my brother is very adamant that we should not be doing a gift exchange this year they want to do something else instead whether that's a donation or volunteer work or something other than a gift exchange because we are all adults who don't need anything or really want anything this year. And I felt like I was the only one in the group that was like, I want Christmas presents. But I couldn't say that because I was outnumbered and it made me feel like I was I don't know, being materialistic and I just it's Christmas. It's Christmas and I want to do something nice for the community and get a gift. Is that too much to ask

01:10:52 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 3:

for? I like that.

01:10:54 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 2:

I don't think that's totally fair.

01:10:56 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 3:

I always say that whenever Chelsea and I will say, we're not going to do gifts this year. We're not going to do that. We're just going to do the kids. I always feel like there's an ulterior motive in there. She's going to get me something, and I'm going to look bad or whatever. We never end up agreeing to do the non-gifts. We always end up doing something for each other. I think in this case with your family, I could see where your dad will probably buy you guys something because he's just a great guy. Your brother's not buying you crap. That's 100% correct Sean's saying Great, I'm not buying anything at all But I don't know Are there families that are doing this Where they're doing the whole We're not going to give gifts thing And does it ever work out that way Or does it cause fights

01:11:42 - 01:11:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't do gifts with my dad and my stepmom We do

01:11:46 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 3:

You guys do experiences

01:11:48 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

We will do an Airbnb Or stay at one of my friends' houses Up north or something in the summer And that's what we put our money toward instead is like spending a weekend together. And I have to tell you, it's, it's amazing because that's one of my favorite weekends of the year, you know, is getting to spend time with my dad and my stepmom and the kids.

01:12:08 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 3:

Um, but do you guys, uh, when you do it, like if it's in the middle of summertime, do you guys dress up in Christmas clothes just to remind yourselves that that's what it came from?

01:12:17 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:12:18 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 3:

You guys should do that.

01:12:20 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:12:20 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 3:

I'll wear the Christmas pajamas and everybody will be like, why are we wearing them?

01:12:23 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 2:

No, but so normally my sisters and I don't do gifts for each other either. Like we'll do, we'll go get our nails done or something around Christmas time. But I said to my younger sister, Jacqueline, the other night when I was at her house, I'm like, I kind of want to do gifts this year. Like in exactly what Megan said. I'm like, I don't know. We had our, like Wes and I aren't doing gifts or.

01:12:41 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh. Really? And this is, you guys are newly dating. Like you guys.

01:12:46 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 2:

Well, we're going to take, we're taking a little vacation. So we're putting our money toward that instead of doing gifts.

01:12:50 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm doing that too. But don't you have anything to exchange? Like one little thing under the tree?

01:12:55 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 2:

We'll do stockings because that was his tradition growing up Was his mom only had enough money to get the kids a stocking

01:13:00 - 01:13:03 | Speaker 3:

And so What's in the stocking? It's not just an empty stocking

01:13:03 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Well I can't say in case he's listening

01:13:05 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 3:

No I know but what kind of stuff would be in the stocking?

01:13:07 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh I'll put little things in there

01:13:08 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 3:

Like what's little in your world?

01:13:11 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 2:

Like a pair of pajama pants Oh I don't know Treats

01:13:14 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 3:

Like clothes like what I get for Father's Day That sounds like the gifts that I own He loves to read So I'll get him a book. Always sucks. Underwear. Actually, I'll be honest with you.

01:13:26 - 01:13:26 | Speaker 2:

I will not give him underwear.

01:13:27 - 01:13:34 | Speaker 3:

I love underwear. I do. Because the underwear I wear is nice underwear. I like the Tommy John stuff. What's going on, Julie?

01:13:36 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. My family, the spouses and stuff still, you know, adults still exchange. But we decided as a group that we weren't going to do gifts anymore because we took so much time unwrapping them. And we were like, well, we'll just do for the kids. And we're all adults. We don't need it anyway. So if we're going to want something, we buy it for ourselves. So we don't do gift exchange with adults. So we spend the whole day eating and playing card games like Cards Against Humanity and stuff.

01:14:02 - 01:14:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's cool.

01:14:02 - 01:14:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but I feel like Christmas magic is gone.

01:14:06 - 01:14:18 | Speaker 5:

When you grow up. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but we're still all together. And we all give kind of gifts throughout the year. Like, hey, I was thinking about you and picked this up and stuff. And then we do big stuff for birthdays.

01:14:18 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 1:

But what's happening in your situation and Shannon and Megan, like, we all complained about how Halloween's not Halloween anymore because nobody goes trick-or-treating. They do a quick trunk-or-treat and kids don't want candy. Well, we're slowly moving away from those old Christmas traditions, too. It's like, if we're not going to exchange gifts on Christmas, then it's kind of changing the whole vibe and the feel of what you did Christmas morning.

01:14:41 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 4:

I don't have Christmas spirit because of this.

01:14:44 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 5:

My husband and I still exchange gifts But I don't have a significant other thing

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 3:

Exchange it with your husband

01:14:54 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 4:

If my family don't get me gifts I don't get gifts

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Andrew, there's a bah humbug moment here for Megan. What do you guys do, Andrew?

01:15:09 - 01:15:10 | Unknown:

Hello?

01:15:10 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 3:

Hello. Would you like to be Megan's husband? Go ahead. I'm sorry. You have a wife. What were you going to say?

01:15:17 - 01:15:36 | Speaker 4:

So my wife is just trying to be a minimalist this year, and she don't want any gifts for even the kids. She don't want any toys, no thing unless it's absolutely necessary, like maybe clothes. But she would rather just maybe spend time, like, on a vacation or something, make it a memory, not just putting something out.

01:15:36 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 2:

Are your kids little or are they older?

01:15:38 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 4:

So I do. My son just turned two years old and my daughter just turned seven.

01:15:43 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you got to do toys. Yeah, you got to do something for your kids. You got to do toys. Yeah, you can't do experiences, though, with the kids when they were little. I mean, we did a couple toys, too, but we did, like, Grand Rapids Public Museum, like a gift card for the year. But you threw some toys under the tree.

01:15:57 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 3:

Nah, kids want toys. I'm sorry. No offense You can't explain to them

01:16:01 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 5:

That we're just going to have An experience next month

01:16:03 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 3:

That's You gotta You gotta give them toys Spend it Well

01:16:08 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 4:

You can talk to my wife Because I'm anti-herdecision Yeah We'll go I gotta call your wife

01:16:15 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 3:

I gotta call Scott and Sean I gotta call all these people And tell them Come on You gotta at least do something You're gonna Kids Kids Kids want toys You know Adults can do experiences.

01:16:30 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but experiences don't have to be like vacations. They could be like a gift card for the year to the trampoline park or anything else. You know, museum. A zoo membership. Yeah.

01:16:39 - 01:16:46 | Speaker 5:

It's called having kids and living all year, right? Like, you can do all those things, but kids don't understand, like, that's part of the Christmas gift. You just do it.

01:16:46 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 3:

To me, I will never forget unwrapping that Hot Wheels racetrack as a kid and not being able to put it all together. But I know. But that was, like, the coolest thing ever. Yeah. You know, and then, like, we would get, like, stocking stuff for things where, like, McDonald's, those gift coupon books. Like, those were kind of cool until my dad said to my mom, aren't we trying to help him lose weight? Like, you know, it was one of those type of things. But I don't know. I just think that, I think that for Megan and Scott and Sean, maybe you guys do, like, one gift for each person. Like, one little simple gift. And it'd be, like, get something nice and small because Megan really wants something.

01:17:24 - 01:17:28 | Speaker 2:

Can you just tell them to please show me some love This holiday season

01:17:28 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 3:

Megan I feel bad because We're doing a gift exchange Here at our show where we all pick Names and stuff like that Maybe we all should buy Megan a bunch of gifts No please don't do that If you listen to the More Mojo podcast I think that she really would want us to buy it

01:17:44 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 4:

Alright it is time now for a phone scam on Mojo in the Morning Michelle is not the type to ever complain or ruffle feathers But she got a crazy loud neighbor next door to her that is driving her nuts She finally called to complain and now Spike is going to make it seem like it blew up in her face It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam You're whole with the phone scams This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:18:26 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 5:

Hello? Yeah, hi. Calling for Michelle, please. This is Michelle. Hey, Michelle. This is Mark Lashart. I'm the owner of the property. You spoke with Jeff, my property manager, and he brought me up to speed that you had a complaint. Can you tell me what happened?

01:18:39 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes. Thanks for calling me. So, the neighbor in an apartment has been a real problem lately. Ever since he's moved in, it's been loud music, you know, slamming doors, barking dogs. I put up with it for a while, but he started coming home late at night recently, maybe the last two weeks or so, and he turned his music up.

01:19:05 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 5:

Would you ask him to turn it down?

01:19:08 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, I went to talk to him the other day, and I was like, hey, you know, I have a son, you know, he's got to sleep for school, and the guy just flipped me off and, you know, slammed the door in my face. That was it for me, so I decided to call and leave a complaint.

01:19:22 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Yeah, that's the report I have, too, and that's what I'm calling to talk about. So I'm going to give you official notice, and you have 30 days to vacate the premises. You have to move. Wait, what? I can't tolerate you.

01:19:38 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 1:

I'm not the one making the noise, though. I'm the one that was making the complaint.

01:19:42 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 5:

Right. I won't have that type of behavior on my property.

01:19:46 - 01:19:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm the one that complained, though.

01:19:48 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're a rat. What, a little noise at night? And you have to tell the whole world and get them in trouble, try and get them kicked out?

01:19:56 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I can't be the only one you've heard from, the noise.

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 6:

With the door slamming?

01:20:01 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, I don't tolerate tattletales. That asshole's my cousin.

01:20:06 - 01:20:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's a nice way to run a business.

01:20:09 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you came for my family, and that's where I draw the line.

01:20:13 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 6:

This is unbelievable. Yeah, it is. There's got to be somebody else to talk.

01:20:15 - 01:20:19 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy I have to deal with people like you, so I need you to move out by the end of the month.

01:20:21 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:20:22 - 01:20:30 | Speaker 1:

Well, you'll get a notice in the mail in the next two days, but I wanted to handle it in person and let you know. Handle it in person like you should have done with the person down the hall.

01:20:31 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 6:

I did, and he came and he flipped me off and slammed the door in my face.

01:20:35 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, now I'm slamming the door. Get out of my building. And if you don't do it in 30 days, I'll call the cops and put you out.

01:20:44 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 6:

You are an a**hole.

01:20:46 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 1:

We just got word and we've got to all pray and put some good vibes Ellie's way. because Ellie, who we granted a wish for the other day, remember she was the Allen Park 16-year-old who is battling cancer. She is in Columbus right now preparing for a surgery. So we need to send well wishes her way, and we just want you to know that we've been praying for you. Did you see last night we posted up on our social media page the people in Oxford are so unbelievable. They did luminaries all around Oxford, the community. And Aunt Crystal, who is Madison's aunt, sent a message from her dad and showed us the front of their house and what was in front of their home with the luminaries that are out there. That's beautiful. By the way, did you see 20,000 luminaries? Is it, by the way, is it?

01:25:00 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 3:

Luminaries? Luminaries. Luminaries?

01:25:02 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 5:

I say luminaries.

01:25:03 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 3:

Luminaries, yeah. They're beautiful. They're basically my lunch bag with a candle inside. But they did it throughout the whole community. And you can go check it out up on our Instagram and Facebook page. And Reese, great job with that. I cried, by the way, with the Wish videos, too.

01:25:20 - 01:25:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, the Wish videos get me, man. If you don't, you don't have a soul. To hear it is one thing. To see the faces, it's just, you have to watch them.

01:25:30 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 3:

And yesterday's, I watched the Facebook Live that we did, and then I looked at the pictures, and then the video is going to be posted here real soon. Tristan and Justin are doing the videos for us, and Justin will have that video into us. But I'm going to say this to you. Mike came back very, very emotional from yesterday's wish and said that this was a mom that was like, she's like a superhero keeping her family afloat right now, right?

01:25:57 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, and I talked to the – I had Cecily listen to that one yesterday because she's very interested in all this. She's interested in why Daddy's gone, and she wants to go on the Grand Rapids delivery, and it was just – I went back and hugged my family very tightly when I got home.

01:26:12 - 01:26:13 | Speaker 3:

Mike, how old is your daughter Cecily?

01:26:14 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 2:

She's eight. She is so amazing.

01:26:16 - 01:26:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she's such – you guys do such a great job raising her, but all the stuff that you do, you get her involved in, and she's just an awesome kid. I'm trying. I'm very happy. Thank you. Mojo in the Morning Show, we're commercial-free right now. Shannon found something in her garbage can that has now become the big mystery. What's it the mystery of?

01:26:40 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 5:

Whose clothes are they? This is so strange. So I emptied all of the trash cans in my house and dumped them into the bin outside yesterday. It was trash day. So this happened not last night but the night before. So I'm throwing all the bags in my big bin that's up at the top of my driveway next to my garage. And as I'm dumping stuff in there, I notice there are men's clothes in my outdoor trash bin. Specifically on the top of the pile, I could see this really nice, like quilted, maroon-colored men's pullover, okay? So I lifted it out to see it because I'm like, whose clothes are these? they're definitely not obviously not mine size extra large van heisen brand nothing seemed wrong with the pullover i could see some other stuff in there and so i'm like who in the heck does

01:27:32 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 4:

this belong to and why oh god wait is it in my trash can you just pulled them out of your trash can i pulled the top thing out oh god don't do that because i somebody put in something in my trash can once they poop themselves and put it in the trash can wait a complete stranger oh yeah Yeah, you know, I don't care what it is. If somebody puts something in your trash can, it stays in there until the trash comes. Don't touch it. I made that mistake once. I found a pair of bicycle shorts, and I was like, what? These aren't mine. Whose are they? And I thought I busted one of my daughters, like, throwing away a pair of clothes they didn't like. And I thought, okay, this is going to be a life lesson. I have to take it inside and talk to them about valuing what we have. I pulled them out and immediately dropped them and realized, oh, my God, there was poopy pants in my-

01:28:16 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 5:

This did not smell like poop. It looked very nice. And that's why I was like, why did somebody throw this away?

01:28:21 - 01:28:24 | Speaker 3:

This did not smell like poop. Did you smell it?

01:28:24 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 5:

No, I didn't sniff it. But I would have smelled if it smelled like poop. And it didn't. I know it's not Wes's because Wes is small. He wears a size small. Again, this was an extra large. So I texted my mom to see if her boyfriend had thrown away some stuff when they were over the weekend. And she was like, nope, not his. So it is a mystery. I have no idea why somebody would have walked up the driveway and not pants. This was a shirt, but there were other things underneath. I didn't, Spike, to your point, I did not dig in my trash can to see, but that was the thing I pulled out, and it was a size extra large.

01:28:58 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 3:

Who's throwing their clothes in Shannon's trash can? Isn't that strange? That is weird.

01:29:05 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 5:

And again, not at the side of the road. I hadn't put them out at the side of the road yet. They walked up to your house. They walked up to my house.

01:29:11 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 3:

And you're not having any work or anything done around your house? That is nutty. I know. That just makes me wonder if there's a guy taking his clothes off outside of your house, and why is there a guy outside your house taking clothes off? You know what I mean? Yeah, I don't know. Wait, is it the crazy neighbor that complains about your leaves during fall all the time?

01:29:34 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 5:

That would be his size, I think. Really? He's probably a large, extra large.

01:29:37 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 3:

What's he doing? Maybe he's...

01:29:39 - 01:29:41 | Speaker 5:

And it does look like something he would wear, but he has his own garbage cans.

01:29:42 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 3:

Really? Mojo in the morning. Hello.

01:29:46 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I'm guessing that one of Shannon's neighbors is having an affair and needed to dispose of the evidence.

01:29:53 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. That's the greatest.

01:29:54 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that is a great theory.

01:29:56 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 3:

That's a good plot twist here. What could be good?

01:30:00 - 01:30:06 | Speaker 6:

going on yeah that's have you when you guess this are you guessing this because your mind goes that

01:30:06 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 7:

way because you watch a lot of tv shows that are like that yeah i would say so and then also today's

01:30:12 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 6:

thursday it's the war of the roses right thank you yeah that's a good point uh wendy hi good morning what's going on wendy's got a wild uh thought and comment what's that oh my gosh the

01:30:25 - 01:30:33 | Speaker 3:

First thing I thought when she said that, she should take them to the police or let them come get them because what if somebody committed a crime and stashed them in there?

01:30:33 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 6:

And that's evidence.

01:30:35 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 2:

My brain does not go there. And by the way, it's already gone because Garbage Day was yesterday.

01:30:39 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 1:

I do watch a lot of dating. Oh, damn it. Are you already gone?

01:30:43 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 6:

You and me both. Because I'm going to tell you this.

01:30:45 - 01:30:45 | Speaker 2:

You and me both, Wendy.

01:30:45 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 6:

If I were to commit a crime, I would not throw the clothes in my garbage. Of course. I would throw, although you know what I would do? I'd throw them over a bridge into a lake or something. You know how they always do that? I don't know.

01:30:57 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 5:

The movies I always find always washes up or a fisherman catches it on his hook. Right.

01:31:03 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Jasmine? Hi.

01:31:06 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 8:

Hi. I'm wondering, Shannon, do you have a ring? Have you checked your ring?

01:31:10 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 2:

I do, but I don't know when this happened. So I would have to go through, like, days and hours and hours of footage, and I'm not that invested.

01:31:20 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 6:

I'd be invested if you give me your passcode. I'll go through it for you. Hi, Sonny. What's happening?

01:31:27 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how you doing?

01:31:28 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 6:

By the way, I felt like, I don't know your name is Sonny, but I felt like one of those old ladies that calls everybody Sonny when I was calling you Sonny. I don't know why I felt that way. Hi, Sonny.

01:31:37 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I do a podcast for throwing the clothes in Shannon's garbage.

01:31:42 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you're taking credit or blame for this.

01:31:46 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was driving by and, you know, you're right. The body's in the river.

01:31:52 - 01:32:00 | Speaker 6:

I thought he was going to go to the creepy side And he was going to say I was Hanging out at Shannon's house naked Or something like that

01:32:00 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I'm not that bad

01:32:03 - 01:32:05 | Speaker 6:

Okay, alright, thank you

01:32:05 - 01:32:09 | Speaker 3:

Thanks for adding to the See ya, Sonny I love your radio show

01:32:09 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 6:

We kind of like you What's up, Dorothy?

01:32:14 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 8:

Hi, guys, listen This is my second time calling in, I'm so excited

01:32:19 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 6:

Wait, you called us up already today?

01:32:21 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 8:

No, no, no, no. I'm just saying, like, it's my second time. In your life? Yes.

01:32:26 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 6:

Nice. Oh, good. Thank you. Second time caller, long time listener.

01:32:30 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 8:

Yes.

01:32:30 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 7:

So, listen, Shannon, do not touch the stuff. I already did. I just said I did.

01:32:36 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 6:

Why? Why?

01:32:36 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 7:

No, but in the future, like, if stuff like that happened, because, like, say, you probably used to probably stay in a good neighborhood, but just say, like, if somebody was to do a crime and like want to get away throw away the evidence or something like that and then you put your hands in the trash can touching it and then say if they do like an investigation and want to you know track the crime scene and then forensics and stuff so do not touch the stuff that's not

01:33:03 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 2:

well the next time i come into evidence from a murder i will remember that do you tell us this

01:33:10 - 01:33:14 | Speaker 6:

because you work for like a crime lab or a police department?

01:33:14 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 8:

No, I just like to watch Law and Order and see you.

01:33:19 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you don't want to get you don't want to mess with that. Mariska Harkache or whatever her name is.

01:33:26 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 2:

Right. Love you guys.

01:33:29 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 5:

But also not just the murder part. It could have poopies on it.

01:33:32 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 8:

Yes, yes, Spike. I'm so sorry.

01:33:35 - 01:33:42 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Mike says that people do this all the time. and they throw crazy crap into your garbage. Is that right, Mike?

01:33:44 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 4:

I used to in the past. I used to be a manager of Frank Starrs for years ago, and one of our favorite things was to go to the dumpster. Just see if we found a motorcycle, a boat. One day I go in there. A boat? Yes. And there's a woman's dress. I move it over. There's also bra and panties. What the hell's going on? I got a stick, and I'm moving it. I find a little tub of Vaseline. Oh, God. tonight. Oh, no. And several pornographic magazines. Oh, boy. And I, you know, this is too weird. So I ended up calling the police. I said, you know, you may want to check this out. Whoever's going back there and doing this. Wait, hold on.

01:34:20 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 6:

Is that Frank's Nursery? Yeah.

01:34:24 - 01:34:25 | Speaker 2:

I remember Frank's Nursery.

01:34:26 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 6:

They don't have them anymore. Were you ever around a Frank's

01:34:28 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 4:

Nursery at all? Not recently.

01:34:30 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 6:

Not recently. Okay. All right.

01:34:31 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 4:

Just checking. But also, where's the boat? I ended up calling the police. The crime scene taped my whole dumpster off for three days. Wait. Because of the porn magazines and the Vaseline? Well, come to find out they found a dead prostitute on the other side of A-Pile. Oh my gosh. Oh. It was her stuff and they thanked me over and over for calling. Wow. It turned out it was part of the crime scene. Oh my gosh.

01:34:55 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, Drewski and Dank, my garbage guys. They're their names.

01:35:00 - 01:35:01 | Speaker 1:

You know your garbage guys' names.

01:35:01 - 01:35:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because they write me chalk notes on my driveway.

01:35:04 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 1:

Your garbage guys chalk note your driveway.

01:35:07 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 2:

They are the best. Yes, they do. All the time.

01:35:09 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 1:

The life of a single girl. To have that happening, that's unbelievable.

01:35:13 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 2:

I love that.

01:35:13 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 1:

What do they write you, like love notes?

01:35:15 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, or like yesterday they put a heart. Last week they wrote Happy Thanksgiving. They do. They really do all the time.

01:35:21 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 1:

Your garbage guys, look at that.

01:35:23 - 01:35:23 | Speaker 2:

Aren't they cute?

01:35:24 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 1:

Meanwhile, the people on the next street are like, are they ever going to come? Maybe it's their clothes. Maybe it's Drewski and Danks If they had Taco Tuesday And then they have to throw it away Mojo in the morning Follow us On all of our social media Please check out what we got for you We work hard at that And also make comments too We don't care Even if you don't like us You can make those comments People do all the time But we would love for you to follow Mojo in the morning Search for us on Facebook, Instagram tiktok twitter wherever you are on we are on too uh so i was working with uh my show that i i kind of like uh do a little like mentoring uh for in alabama and birmingham alabama i've talked about them before alabama and dj new era and i was working with them yesterday and uh dj new era who I've said a lot of topics about on the air. This guy is a very, very funny guy. Good-looking guy, good-looking black dude, single dad, very cool. Well, he has now made his way through three female members of the Mojo in the Morning show.

01:36:40 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, wait a second. Don't say made his way through.

01:36:41 - 01:37:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, he's flirted with. He started with our old producer, Ellen. Then he moved on to Cupcake Shannon because he follows Cupcake Shannon, which is what you can find her on social media. Now he has gone to KP on air. So he calls her KP on air. But listen to this one, because I don't think he's ever did this and offered this to Ellen or you, Shannon. You tell me. DJ New Era said that he offered KP a trip to go visit him in either Birmingham, Alabama, or Atlanta, Georgia, where he works, because he is the DJ for a bunch of rappers. He DJs for ASAP Rocky, and he's DJed before for Drake and DJ Khaled and those guys. And he offered to fly KP to either Birmingham or Atlanta, put her up in a hotel, pay for her airfare, and take her out on a date.

01:37:41 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I never got that. See, this is the first time I'm hearing this. He reached out on my social media if I didn't know all these perks.

01:37:48 - 01:38:04 | Speaker 1:

He said that he reached out and asked you if you've ever been there, and then you said, no, I've never been to Alabama or whatever. And then he came back and asked you again. You've got to look in your DMs because he said now he feels like you're going dark on him. Is that right?

01:38:05 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 3:

I actually am really, really awful at my social media. So, yes, I am going dark on you, but it's not because I don't like you. It's literally because I forget everything.

01:38:13 - 01:38:15 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah, it is. Can we call him?

01:38:15 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

But also, I have a weird thing about guys on social media. Like, I'm sure DJ Arrow's a very nice guy, but I haven't met him yet. And I feel like flying to another state would be, like, putting my life in the hands of a stranger. That's just my first thought. But also, you know, he's a colleague and he knows you, Mojo. So maybe, maybe. He's a colleague. Wow, that's very formal for you. That's another reason. He's a colleague. That's another thing, too. I'm like, oh, like, okay. Business associate.

01:38:38 - 01:38:43 | Speaker 1:

I'm kind of offended. I feel honest to God, slighted. Hold on.

01:38:43 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 4:

You better call him his butt. He's the only woman he has not been on on this show.

01:38:47 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 3:

That is true. Wonder why. Megan. You guys are going to put me on the spot here.

01:38:51 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, hold on. They're on the air right now. I don't know. They probably are on doing the show.

01:38:56 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 3:

Am I going to have to go on this? All right, let me see. Oh.

01:38:59 - 01:39:04 | Speaker 1:

Era, we're on the radio right now, so don't swear, okay? All right, Mojo.

01:39:04 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 2:

We are not friends anymore. I'm unfollowing you right now.

01:39:07 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 1:

That's Cupcake Shannon.

01:39:09 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 4:

Let me say something real quick. Yes, Elle. He's been staring at his phone for the past three minutes because he knew you were going to call, and he just saw your call come in. He goes, oh, God, here we go.

01:39:19 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 1:

So I just told our listeners about how Ara offered to fly KP for a date, and when I brought that up, I didn't realize that, A, Shannon was going to be so upset that she was never offered this and that Megan's upset that you haven't even sniffed her at all out on social media.

01:39:38 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow, really? Yeah, DJ Ara was also the same guy. well cupcake shannon i'm sorry but i did not cheesecake era anymore i mean she has she has

01:39:49 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 2:

a man i do i do but when i didn't but when i didn't where was this offer well i didn't know

01:39:56 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

how to approach it because i just didn't know how to

01:40:00 - 01:40:07 | Speaker 2:

I didn't want to be that guy that just says, yo, let's go someplace or let's hang out. I didn't know how to approach you the correct way.

01:40:07 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 1:

And then how did you leapfrog right over Megan and hit KP up first?

01:40:12 - 01:40:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, KP looks like she's a lot of fun. No offense, Megan.

01:40:15 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my. Wow. That's possibly the most offensive thing you could have said.

01:40:21 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. You know, whenever someone says no offense, there's some offensive stuff about to come out of their mouth.

01:40:26 - 01:40:27 | Speaker 5:

He can't hear me, Kenny.

01:40:27 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 4:

No, he can't hear you because he's on my phone. So I'll translate anything that you want to say. Megan says F off.

01:40:33 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 5:

There you go.

01:40:36 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 4:

What were you going to say, Megan?

01:40:38 - 01:40:39 | Speaker 6:

Something worse than that.

01:40:40 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Real quick, I want to ask this question. Have any listeners ever had a guy or a girl offer a date to fly you to another city because you never met? They live in that city. Has anybody ever taken them up on that offer?

01:40:53 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 6:

I want to answer this.

01:40:54 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:40:55 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 6:

I have a lot of friends who do this. Really? Yes. you have a lot of friends that actually do this type of a lot of friends who do this and um i watch their location like a hawk because i just don't feel comfortable with like flying out to other states with people i've never met before i feel like it's just the start of like ted bundy but um but i also like i respect guys offering to pay but at the same time like i don't know you it's like i don't even like if i go on a first date normally i just want to skip and leave if I don't like the person. What if I get there and I don't like them and then I have nobody to kind of rely on in a state that I've ever been in before.

01:41:30 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 4:

And are they looking for something more if they're spending all that money on you, right? What were you going to say, Alabama? I cut you off. What were you going to say?

01:41:36 - 01:41:44 | Speaker 1:

Where was Eric going to plan for KP to sleep? Well, that's the ruse, isn't it? You invite them, you got them hostage in a town for a weekend.

01:41:44 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 4:

No, he told us yesterday, Alabama, he was going to pay for a hotel and airfare and all that.

01:41:50 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 2:

He had everything covered. I know how to treat a lady. Okay. For the woman to come down here, I'm going to make sure she's taken care of.

01:41:57 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 1:

By the way, your co-host just laughed. I doubt you for some reason.

01:42:01 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 6:

DJ Arrow, what do you think my ideal date is?

01:42:05 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 2:

Okay, who is this? This is KP. I'm talking to you. Let's see. Okay, country music, am I right? Yes. Okay, because I see the cowgirl boots. You like to eat, am I right?

01:42:23 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Everyone does. Who doesn't?

01:42:26 - 01:42:33 | Speaker 2:

Let's see. Wow, this is a tough question. You know what?

01:42:33 - 01:42:35 | Speaker 4:

He hasn't gotten that far. Yeah.

01:42:36 - 01:42:39 | Speaker 2:

I can't really answer that because I haven't really talked to you.

01:42:39 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she won't. Well, it's because she's ghosting you now. She's not DMing you back.

01:42:43 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 6:

You jumped right to the date before we even got to know each other.

01:42:47 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 2:

I mean, it's cool if I get the ghost. I didn't know how old you were Until Mojo told me And I was like ooh I don't know about that one I'm 36 years old So I'm kind of more experienced Than you KT

01:43:03 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 4:

We're going to let you guys Go back to your show Because I'm going to take Some of these calls You guys have a good show And Ara You be good I told you this yesterday That's part of my mentoring I got to mentor this guy

01:43:15 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 6:

I think you should give him Some other mentoring Should I give him some other

01:43:19 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 4:

He needs a new mentor Maybe that's the thing

01:43:22 - 01:43:25 | Speaker 1:

Has he literally been through every woman in Birmingham I don't know

01:43:25 - 01:43:32 | Speaker 4:

Alabama has No he has not He's a gentleman Alright see ya love you too

01:43:32 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 3:

What's the difference between guys and girls Because I would instantly If I was single I'd instantly be on that flight And probably get murdered But I would be there

01:43:38 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 4:

I'll go on a free trip Birmingham, Alabama, Atlanta, Georgia Hi Mojo in the morning

01:43:44 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 5:

Hi About if you have ever gone somewhere I haven't, but my friend has She got flown to Montreal, Canada from Michigan

01:43:58 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh And was it some rich dude that did this?

01:44:03 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 5:

No He was just a streamer He's not very big at all

01:44:09 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 4:

Did she stay at his place? Or in a hotel? Yeah Really?

01:44:14 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah Were you worried about her when she was doing this? I had her location. I was like, you need to send me your location. I don't like it.

01:44:22 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask you a question? Having her location, what do you do with that? Hello, Montreal police. I can't find my friend.

01:44:29 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 1:

She's been in the same spot for the past five hours. Well, it could be too late.

01:44:35 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 4:

Did you know, did they fool around, or what did they do?

01:44:40 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 5:

They did fool around for one. But he did end up being actually real And actually the person he said he was Was a super gentleman Like, oh, okay

01:44:52 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 4:

I think I would have that first time be on my turf I don't know if I'd go to their turf I agree with what Mike said I'd take a free trip

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 1:

trip but i would also probably then think it through and go nah free trip maybe is not worth

01:45:06 - 01:45:34 | Speaker 3:

that worth it what's up marlene good morning boo hey what's happening um this is offered to me an awful lot and i just don't understand what makes me nervous now we've been facebook friends for a while we've got to know each other okay but off the rip i get nervous because why do you have to spend all that money for me to come you can't find nobody in your own right that's what i'm saying You don't want to come join your backyard if nobody else in your own area wants to be there.

01:45:35 - 01:45:41 | Speaker 1:

Marlene, what's the most exotic place that you've ever been offered to go to?

01:45:42 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm in the foot world, so I would say almost everywhere in the U.S. Wait, wait.

01:45:48 - 01:45:51 | Speaker 5:

I'm in the foot world. Yeah, remember Marlene?

01:45:51 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 1:

Marlene's called us before. She actually sells the feed stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Marlene. Yes. What's the most unexotic place that you've ever been asked to go to?

01:46:03 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 3:

Just like Michigan or Kentucky. Like, hey, come on down and hang out. Like, no. I don't think I'm going to do that.

01:46:11 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Nothing. They have bad feet in Kentucky. I wouldn't go there, too.

01:46:16 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 3:

Love you, too.

01:46:16 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 1:

Take care. I love you. Bye. Kayla.

01:46:20 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:46:20 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 1:

Hi. Where were you offered to fly to?

01:46:23 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 2:

So I knew this guy on Instagram, right? and he flew me out to texas i've never been and when i get inside the car from the airport i'm like okay like where are we gonna go he says oh we're gonna go to the hotel i said oh you're gonna stay with me he's like no i can't be gone from my shorty all night i was like what oh gosh what do you mean he was a whole ass married oh wow so what did what did you do in that situation Bro, I was like, I want to go home. Take me back to the airport right now.

01:46:55 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 1:

Wait, I like, I like, though, this. This is interesting, though. He was like, I'm a whole ass married in my shorty. Listen to this one. Miriam was flown to Vegas by a professional athlete.

01:47:12 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Hello.

01:47:13 - 01:47:17 | Speaker 1:

Hi. What, what sport are we, what sport are we talking about here, Miriam?

01:47:18 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 4:

He was actually an NFL player.

01:47:20 - 01:47:25 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Wait a second. An NFL player? How did you guys meet?

01:47:26 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 4:

His friend actually followed me on Instagram, and then I guess he showed him my picture, and then they DM'd me, said, do you want to come to Vegas? I said, yeah. And then I flew out there. They had a room for me. Got picked up in a limousine. Met with them. They were hella cool. His friend was actually a boxer at the time.

01:47:45 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 5:

What happens if you meet up with them and immediately you realize they're not hella cool? Maybe they're losers, they're scary, they're weirdos, and then you're stuck in that place.

01:47:54 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I already had my room for me, and I already had a flight back, so I would have enjoyed Vegas and left.

01:48:00 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 1:

So, wait, there was two of these guys. Did they also fly another girl out for the boxer friend?

01:48:05 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my friend was supposed to fly with me. She ended up not going, so I went by myself. And then I met with them.

01:48:11 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 2:

Did anybody know you were going besides the friend that was supposed to come? Did you tell anybody?

01:48:15 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 4:

Just one of my girlfriends, but he had my location and everything. And then we actually started dating after that. I had a layover after that in Dallas, and he had me to stay with him. And I stayed with him for about three, four months.

01:48:29 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 1:

So he lived in Dallas?

01:48:31 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, for about three months. I started dating him right away after that and go back home.

01:48:35 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 1:

So how soon after he flies you to Vegas and you guys meet, you know, after getting out of the limo at the airport and stuff, how soon after that are you guys naked in bed together?

01:48:46 - 01:48:47 | Speaker 4:

That night.

01:48:47 - 01:48:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:48:49 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 4:

But, like, we started dating. There was a connection with us. We just saw something.

01:48:53 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 1:

There was something. When were you connected? When he sent you the airline ticket?

01:48:57 - 01:49:10 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. I didn't know what to expect, honestly. I just went there, and then we had a connection. He was so cool. He took me, like, on a shopping spree. It was fun.

01:49:10 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 5:

That's the connection. It was his black card.

01:49:12 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 1:

Question for you. What team did he play for? Because Mike and I always get excited over this

01:49:16 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 4:

He played for the Cowboys

01:49:17 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh Tony Romo

01:49:21 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 4:

No he actually recently passed away I'm not going to say his name

01:49:25 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 1:

There's very few Cowboys that have passed away Wait what did he die from?

01:49:32 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 4:

Honestly I think he had mental health issues

01:49:34 - 01:49:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh

01:49:34 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 4:

I started noticing a little bit So I was like okay I have to go the other way I think it was from being in football for so long

01:49:42 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 1:

When was the last time that you guys were together?

01:49:44 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this was back probably in 2016.

01:49:48 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:49:49 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this is a minute ago.

01:49:51 - 01:49:57 | Speaker 1:

Annette has a theory with this, Miriam. And the theory, what is it, Miriam?

01:49:58 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, what do you mean?

01:50:00 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 3:

Annette, are you there?

01:50:01 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm there. I thought you said Miriam.

01:50:04 - 01:50:08 | Speaker 3:

She should marry? No. What's your theory? Your theory that you said was?

01:50:09 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, oh. All I said was that if somebody invites me and everything is paid for, I will go. I will go right away.

01:50:19 - 01:50:19 | Speaker 3:

Because?

01:50:20 - 01:50:38 | Speaker 4:

And if I might get killed, you know, at least I had fun with you. Oh, my God. I did not expect you to say that, Annette. You might get killed, but at least you had a good time. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. Yeah, you wouldn't have fun before that. I know. I wouldn't have fun before that.

01:50:39 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Honestly, you guys are so much better than I am. You guys are brave. You're the same people that probably, like, parachute out of airplanes and stuff like that. I don't know. I don't do stuff like that.

01:50:49 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I would want to get a shootout of a bus.

01:50:52 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 3:

Shannon with the dirty right now.

01:51:58 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 1:

Well, Meadow Walker is honoring her dad, the late Paul Walker. You guys, it's been nine years since he passed away. And Meadow was just 15 when her Fast and Furious star dad died in that fiery car crash. Do you remember that? Yeah. That was terrible. She's now 24 years old, and she posted to social media a really sweet photo, a black and white photo of her and her dad bowling. The caption said, Nine years without you. I love you so much, my angel. She opened up about how she keeps her dad's memory alive in an interview that she did with Page Six. And she said that she takes comfort in watching his movies. She said, they always say the first thing you forget about someone is their voice. I'm fortunate enough to have his voice in so many movies. I'm so sad. That 70s show actor Danny Masterson's rape trial ended yesterday not how I thought it was going to. It ended in a mistrial. And jurors simply said they were unable to reach a decision on whether he was innocent or guilty. The jury deadlocked after hearing weeks upon weeks of testimony, including hearing from the three women who accused Danny of raping them at his Hollywood Hills home in the early 2000s. He faced up to 45 years behind bars if he was found guilty. Danny's attorney said afterward that he is going to move to have the charges dismissed, saying the jury's leanings toward acquittal speaks volumes.

01:53:19 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Is there a public record of that trial?

01:53:22 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

01:53:22 - 01:53:24 | Speaker 2:

It wasn't, like, filmed or anything?

01:53:24 - 01:53:27 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I don't know. That's a great question.

01:53:27 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 3:

I did see video of him in court, so I don't know if...

01:53:30 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 1:

I saw a video of him coming out of the courtroom yesterday, but I didn't see anything in court.

01:53:33 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 3:

I saw some this morning on one of the news stations where there was a video of him sitting there with his lawyers. I don't know if that was pre-trial stuff or not, but why? Do you want to see what happened? What actually did the lawyers, did the prosecution just screw up?

01:53:46 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 2:

I truly like I deep dive Scientology a lot. Yeah, it is a big interest of mine in a way that I can't believe that it's a thing that exists. And I'm wondering if the jury had like proper knowledge of how Scientology works, because I think a lot of times when these situations come up, it's, well, why didn't these ladies come forward earlier? And I think if you knew the inner workings of Scientology, you would know why that wasn't possible for them. And I'm wondering if the jury was fully aware of how that works

01:54:17 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know You know what's funny is that you've done the story non-stop And I've seen it on all the Access Hollywoods and TMZs and stuff For some reason I didn't realize that when he was on that 70s show That he was accused of raping women at that time too That that was going on That that was all during that time And that his co-stars had no idea And some actually, believe it or not thought that he was just like a, you know, a good guy.

01:54:45 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 1:

Sandra Bullock's slimy ex-husband, Jesse James, has landed himself back in the dirty, and he's being accused of cheating yet again. This time by his pregnant wife, his fifth bride, Bonnie Rotten is her name. Rotten is her name, excuse me. She's a former porn star. They just got married six months ago, so she got on her Instagram to slam Jessie in a series of now-deleted stories, but in one, she announced her pregnancy with a sonogram photo, writing, Jessie is busy trying to F other women while I'm pregnant. She called him a truly disgusting human being, said she's 10 weeks pregnant, did say that he blocked her on social media. She said he doesn't give an F about anyone but himself. He's truly disgusting. I don't like putting this spit on social media, but it's the only way he will feel anything is if anyone and everyone knows what he truly is. And she said, look, everybody can laugh at me, make fun of me, whatever you want to say. I know he has a history. I should have known better. You are all right. And with the holiday season in full swing, TV networks are airing all of the Christmas classics, perfect for families. But people are pushing back against one particular classic yet again this year. CBS just aired Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on Tuesday night for the first time this holiday season. I'm sure they'll do it many more times. Well, the much-loved film is getting criticism as many people are calling it out for the bullying scenes, like this one.

01:56:08 - 01:56:09 | Speaker 3:

They just discovered this. It's in the song.

01:56:10 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 1:

Hey, look at the beat. Hey, buy a snow.

01:56:14 - 01:56:15 | Unknown:

Hey, ball pot.

01:56:15 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. They want to cancel the show because of that?

01:56:17 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 1:

They want to cancel Rudolph. This has been going on for a while. It's just loud this year With people saying The whole movie has a bullying narrative But they come around in the end

01:56:28 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 2:

To basically show the bully being Yes, Corrine Conley Who voices Dolly Spoiler alert

01:56:35 - 01:56:47 | Speaker 1:

She's always defended the movie As she is this year And she said, look, it has a happy ending And it helps bullies see why it's wrong To make fun of somebody Just because they're different

01:56:47 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 2:

He becomes the star The person being bullied becomes them.

01:56:52 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 1:

01:57:13 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 2:

playing a little radio games here like reindeer games i'm not gonna break i'm not breaking i'm gonna use those morgan wallen tickets to make sure that everybody is listening to all the commercials that we might have coming up here in just a little bit and we're gonna keep that going because morgan wallen tickets are coming up at nine o'clock today and then wore the roses right afterwards with a big concert announcement for morgan wallen so whoever buys ads in that And that commercial break, your ads will be the most listened to ads ever because people will be sticking around there and leaving us and leaving this radio show. Jennifer.

01:57:52 - 01:57:52 | Unknown:

Hello.

01:57:52 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 2:

Hi. You're a winner. Congratulations.

01:57:55 - 01:57:57 | Unknown:

Thank you so much.

01:57:57 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. Thank you so much for listening to the show, first and foremost. And listen, you got a lot of stuff in your life, I'm sure. Spending time with this radio program is probably the least of your worries. but we got you some tickets and some cash and hopefully we help some of those worries by giving you $10,000 with our Mojo's Mistledoe contest Oh my gosh, that's so awesome I'm so excited for the concert I've been trying so hard to win Who are you most excited? The Backstreet Boys Yes, of course And they're doing a big long set I talked to Lee Leipzner yesterday who's Backstreet Boys guy he's their record guy and he told me, he's like, man He goes, man, they are so excited for Detroit. They're so excited to come back here. They had such a great show at Pine Knob this summer, and they said that the crowd was the most fun crowd that they've performed in front of, and they want everybody to come because they're going to be adding to the songs that you already got a chance to listen to at Pine Knob this summer, some Christmas songs, and then some other special favorites for you. So hold on. We're setting you up with the tickets, $100, and you're qualified to win $10,000 in Mojo's Missile Dough, brought to you by the Ideal U Health Center. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. You're so welcome. Hang on the phone for just one second, okay? Thank you. Mojo in the Morning Show. So we were talking about Christmas classics and Christmas time. I always feel like Christmas time is the greatest time for movies and specials and stuff because the Association of Christmas always brings some of the best movies out. Well, Spike has an opinion, which everybody does, and his opinion was not well taken by some of our listeners who attacked you for an opinion that you brought up.

01:59:39 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Well, I had to laugh because you want to get people riled up. Start naming your favorite Christmas movies or Christmas songs and people get – so I heard more – so I posted on Instagram my favorite Christmas movies. I didn't say the best. I didn't say the most critically award-winning. I said my favorite. It's a matter of personal opinion. But wow, were those fighting words. I never got so many comments.

02:00:00 - 02:00:18 | Speaker 1:

about anything I've done on Instagram as I did when I shared my highly controversial opinion that the Tim Allen Santa Claus movies aren't great. They're trash. What? And the whole rest of the world seems to disagree with me. Right, as they should. The fact that they're just kind of lame. They're just kind of there.

02:00:18 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 3:

I like the first one, but I agree with you on the rest of them.

02:00:21 - 02:00:30 | Speaker 1:

They got worse and worse. They got worse and worse. They didn't need three sequels and a TV series, and now Disney's going to do a reimagining of it, and it's like, They're just not great

02:00:30 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 3:

I thought the first one was good The second one was pretty good I haven't watched the Disney one yet But you're 100% wrong The Tim Allen movies in general are bad I think the first one was great I agree with Shannon

02:00:43 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 1:

Great is not a word you would use Really it's more closer to say It's already on TV I guess we'll watch it

02:00:51 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 2:

It's no elf It's no Grinch

02:00:56 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 1:

It's no Snoopy and Charlie Brown It's no classic, like Home Alone. Love Actually. Stop.

02:01:03 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 2:

We're having a conversation over here about the Christmas movies.

02:01:06 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 3:

I love Love Actually.

02:01:07 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 2:

Love Actually and The Family Stone are two movies that I love so much. What about The Holiday? We're talking about classic. The Holiday. I thought that you had a romantic heart in your body there somewhere.

02:01:19 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 1:

They are the schlockiest Hallmark movie.

02:01:23 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever watched The Family Stone?

02:01:25 - 02:01:30 | Speaker 1:

Horrible. Are you honest to God? Then you never watched it. You just like Sarah Jessica Parker.

02:01:31 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 3:

You just Googled that. You haven't watched it.

02:01:33 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 1:

It's a Hallmark plot.

02:01:34 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 3:

No, it is not.

02:01:35 - 02:01:35 | Speaker 2:

All right.

02:01:35 - 02:01:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:01:36 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 2:

So what did you list? I'm moving away from you. So what is your top? What is your top of tops?

02:01:41 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 1:

My top is Elf. Okay. It's a classic, which, I mean, it's just amazing. There's so many great quotable movies. And then I go to, like, a bunch of really classics. I like A Charlie Brown Christmas, which has that amazing jazzy score. And also all Christmas specials should be 25 minutes long. It's just enough. I like The Grinch. Which one? Well, I like both. I like the... There's three. Well, there's three. The most recent one wasn't that great.

02:02:10 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 3:

I like the Benedict Cumberbatch.

02:02:11 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 1:

I like the... Obviously, the classic animated from the 60s is the best. But also, the Jim Carrey one is good. Mm-hmm. Benedict Cumberbatch, not so great. No, I don't like that one either. No.

02:02:20 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you one that you're going to either love or hate, but it's my favorite of all time?

02:02:25 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 1:

I know what your favorite is of all time, because it's also your favorite movie of all time, and it also is one of the most annoying and disturbing movies of all time.

02:02:31 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand how you could say that, but it's honestly, it's one of the most touching movies ever. It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite Christmas movie of all time.

02:02:39 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, not my favorite, but it's really, really good.

02:02:42 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 1:

Jimmy Stewart is annoying for two hours, and the movie is disturbing. Think of the movie plot.

02:02:47 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:02:48 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 1:

On Christmas Eve, he's suicidal, and he gets a visit from an angel named Clarence. He's been depressing. He's been a jerk to everyone on life his whole life. And then we're just all of a sudden supposed to like him the next day.

02:03:00 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 3:

Some people would find that relatable.

02:03:05 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 2:

Megan's bio. I have this quote in my phone because I think this quote means so much. Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he? That's the line from Clarence to George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life because it's so true. I mean, think about it. If you've experienced any kind of a loss of any person in your life, you realize how amazing their life was because their life touched you so much. Spike just doesn't have a heart.

02:03:36 - 02:03:40 | Speaker 1:

Or they're just nostalgic and they die and you feel like you're supposed to say something nice about them.

02:03:42 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 2:

Come on. All right. So Elf is my second favorite movie of all time. And then I would say Home Alone and Home Alone 2 tie for third.

02:03:50 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 3:

We're not throwing in like Diehards or like Iron Man. Oh, my God.

02:03:53 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Stop, stop. Diehard is great, Mike. Everybody loves to have the hot take that Diehard is a Christmas movie. Absolutely. When does it happen? We don't ring in the Yuletide cheer with Fighting Off Terrorists at Nakatomi Plaza. I'm talking classic movies that are actually about Christmas. with the joys and surprises and Santa Claus, okay? It's not machine guns. You don't think it was a surprise? I think it was a great movie. Spoiler alert! It was a great movie. I liked it, but everybody loves to pick these movies and go, oh, Gremlins. No, it's a horror movie that just happens to take place on Christmas.

02:04:30 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 2:

What are we missing? Which one are we missing?

02:04:31 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 3:

You're missing Scrooge. Oh, yeah. That's Wes's favorite movie. That's a good one. I love Scrooge. Niagara Falls, Frankie A.

02:04:39 - 02:04:46 | Speaker 2:

What about this one? John brings up a good one. John? Hey, what's up, man? How are you doing? Best Christmas movie.

02:04:47 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Bad Santa. Bye. No.

02:04:49 - 02:04:49 | Speaker 2:

It's okay.

02:04:49 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 3:

It plays a great role in that movie. It does play a great role, but it's not a favorite.

02:04:54 - 02:05:03 | Speaker 2:

Billy Bob Thornton is great. That is one of the funnier movies. It is very funny. No, it's not. But you can't. Can't sit down with your family and watch Santa drink and swear and punch people.

02:05:04 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 1:

What's happening? The crazy Italian, Michelle, our Emotion of the Morning Misfit. Two days in a row. What's going on?

02:05:12 - 02:05:17 | Speaker 6:

Okay, check this out. Spike, I love you. I've loved you since three years, right?

02:05:17 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 2:

It's all changing now.

02:05:18 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 6:

You threw down some fighting gloves here. A wonderful life. My dog's name is George Bailey. Oh, thank you. Yeah. Thank you. It's a wonderful life.

02:05:30 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because his character should be a dog that people just roll their eyes at and go, what a jerkhole. They shouldn't actually celebrate him just because he decided not to kill himself.

02:05:40 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 6:

No, the story of the way people love him, the town coming together, it's more than just about...

02:05:47 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 2:

You want a good classic warm, happy feeling? Go watch an old one like White Christmas or Holiday Inn or Miracle on 34th Street. They have a great, better message than you can be a jerk your whole life.

02:05:57 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 8:

I love both of them.

02:05:58 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 1:

How have we not said Some other ones That are classics too Michelle How have we not said National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

02:06:04 - 02:06:17 | Speaker 6:

Oh that's good Oh I say I love it That's a great movie Home for the Holidays Richard Dreyfuss Home for the Holidays I don't know if I've seen Robert Downey Jr. Oh my god It is so funny Holly Hunter Home for the Holidays Michelle

02:06:17 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 2:

The fact that no one Knows the movie You're talking about You just lost Three credit points In your opinion

02:06:21 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 1:

And a Christmas story

02:06:22 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 2:

No wonder you like Home Alone We need to get you Some streaming passwords

02:06:26 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 1:

How have we not said A Christmas story

02:06:28 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 2:

I said A Christmas Story. Oh, you did say A Christmas Story? It's one of my favorites, for sure.

02:06:31 - 02:06:37 | Speaker 1:

The one I like, too, that people don't like because the animation is super weird is Polar Express. No, I hate it. Oh, that's a boring movie.

02:06:37 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 8:

I love the book, not the movie.

02:06:39 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 1:

I was hoping the train would go off. Oh, my God.

02:06:42 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 2:

If you have kids, it's okay to watch, but the animation's a little disturbing, and there literally is no plot.

02:06:48 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Sarah brings up a good one here, guys. Sarah?

02:06:54 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:06:55 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 1:

We're talking about the classics of classics, but what did you want to say?

02:06:59 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 5:

I said, like, I love the Hallmark movies. Me too. Yes, they're the same plot every time. But I still love them. I love Hallmark movies. I do, too. Well, they drive me absolutely nuts.

02:07:14 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 7:

They have the same story.

02:07:16 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 2:

I don't care.

02:07:17 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 7:

You're telling me a small business is failing at a small town that happens to be holiday themed? and if the entire community gets together they can save the business and the town will be saved and they're going to fall in love with the hottest

02:07:31 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 8:

single person that's close in age and vicinity yes and his name happens to be something along the lines of Chris or Nick

02:07:38 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 1:

listen who's doing the music in the background is that you Mike that was great that was perfect hold on Kim wants to add one to the list what's yours Kim

02:07:51 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 6:

Grandma got ran over by a reindeer.

02:07:53 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we're coming off the rails now. Okay, see?

02:07:55 - 02:07:59 | Speaker 2:

Everybody lost their right to add to this list. You're going to pick on mine?

02:11:41 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 3:

02:11:42 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hold on a second here. All right. I'm going to make sure of that. By the way, I just want you to know that KP felt so bad about this thing. She let us count down the last five calls on this. But you are legit. You are legit from Lake Orion. Yes. Justine from Lake Orion, you're the first person to have tickets to this show. Congratulations to you.

02:12:46 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

02:12:48 - 02:13:16 | Speaker 2:

Morgan Wallen. I can't believe, by the way, I'm like blown away at how big some of these concerts are that are coming to town. And I'm so happy that they are. Detroit and Grand Rapids, Toledo, you guys, we're big markets, man. We're big. Jingle Ball on Tuesday. And we got Taylor and Morgan Wallen. Ed Sheeran. Oh, my gosh. All right. Hang on the phone for a second. Tell everybody who you wake up with to win tickets to Morgan Wallen all next week.

02:13:17 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning.

02:13:18 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 2:

I love you.

02:13:19 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm so happy she won.

02:13:21 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 2:

I love you. Put us on a country station, man. I'm telling you, we'd be number one. We'd be number one on country if we were on there. You know why? Why? Country is just, we sound country sometimes. We sound like we should.

02:13:32 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 4:

You named all his opening acts with the confusion of like a, you were. Am I sounding right? You were like, do I know these? Hardy. It sounded like me my first day on a country station. I thought that was a friend of my dad's. Swindle? Swindle?

02:13:46 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 2:

All right. War of the Roses time.

02:13:48 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters. and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:54 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Aspen is kind of a newlywed. You guys been married, what, a couple years?

02:14:00 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, two and a half years.

02:14:02 - 02:14:09 | Speaker 2:

And is suspecting that her husband is cheating on her, and it's all because of something that's missing. And what's that?

02:14:10 - 02:14:11 | Unknown:

Condoms.

02:14:13 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 2:

Missing condoms at your house?

02:14:15 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:14:16 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 2:

And so there's some missing, and you're wondering, you didn't use them. Where the hell are they?

02:14:25 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we don't use them.

02:14:28 - 02:14:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so you guys don't use condoms.

02:14:31 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 3:

But you found condoms. Right. Well, when we first got married, we were using them. And maybe about a year or so, a year and a half ago, we stopped using them. Okay. Um, and, you know, I, we've got family coming in town or had family coming in town. So I was kind of cleaning everything up. I went through the linen closet and found a box of condoms and there were like two missing.

02:14:59 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

And. You guys didn't use them?

02:15:02 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we stopped using them. So I'm just kind of wondering what the hell is going on.

02:15:09 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 2:

Wow. All right.

02:15:11 - 02:15:15 | Speaker 1:

Wait, one question. I didn't get your whole situation. Do you guys have, like, teenagers at home?

02:15:17 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, no. We're relatively newlyweds. It's just the two of us.

02:15:20 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Because I've had that situation where I know a family friend who, uh-oh, what's going on? There's condoms missing. and then they realize, oh, no, the teenage boy was just too embarrassed to ask for them. He snuck them.

02:15:33 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 2:

You guys haven't had a birthday party and he's used them for party balloons at all or anything like that? I remember when I was a kid, the first time I had condoms. Yeah, I won't even tell the story.

02:15:43 - 02:15:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, now I want to know the story. Wait. Wait a second.

02:15:47 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 2:

I literally blew up a condom with my mouth. It was bad. I know. All right. I'm sorry. We're going to find out what's going on. We hope that he sends the flowers to you. We're calling up your husband, and we hope the roses go to Aspen.

02:16:10 - 02:16:11 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

02:16:12 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm looking for a j*****, please.

02:16:15 - 02:16:16 | Speaker 3:

This is A.

02:16:16 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Joel. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from a brand-new online floral company called rosesbloom.com. If you have about 30 seconds, we would love for you to take a quick survey and answer two very short questions. And we are going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses absolutely free of charge. Not going to ask you for your credit card information or anything like that. We're just trying to get our name out there as we are a new business and hope that you'll purchase flowers from us in the future. You have like 20, 30 seconds?

02:16:45 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 3:

I guess. I've never had something like this before, I guess.

02:16:49 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:16:49 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 3:

I don't have to pay for anything, nothing like that.

02:16:52 - 02:16:58 | Speaker 4:

No, no, just, again, hopefully you'll use us if you send flowers to anybody in the future, okay?

02:16:59 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think the key thing is free. Let's go.

02:17:01 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Free, yep. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Joel?

02:17:06 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 3:

No, I have not.

02:17:08 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 4:

Okay, and do you plan on purchasing flowers maybe in the next six months?

02:17:12 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the holidays and probably Valentine's Day. Yeah, probably. Okay. That's why I wouldn't. Okay. I could probably use them.

02:17:18 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, like I said at the beginning of the call, we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses. They can be sent out as early as today. And I just... Go ahead. Sorry.

02:17:31 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 3:

That's awesome.

02:17:33 - 02:17:35 | Speaker 4:

Say that one more time. I'm so sorry. I can't hear you.

02:17:36 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 3:

I said that's awesome.

02:17:37 - 02:17:41 | Speaker 4:

That's okay. I just need to get a first and a last name of who these are going to to start off.

02:17:41 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 3:

uh aspen and you could probably put to my the love of my life aspen that'd be perfect okay and i'm assuming this is a girlfriend wife it's my it's my wife yeah spell it correctly too

02:18:00 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 4:

a s p e n okay i love this okay i also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:18:12 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I guess.

02:18:13 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 4:

Okay, great.

02:18:15 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Joel, I'm going to complete the call and then we're going to send those flowers. And I will... Who's that? I work for the same person that she works for.

02:18:27 - 02:18:27 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:18:28 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 2:

And we're going to get the phone number and then we're going to send those flowers. But I also need to let you know one last thing. That while we were talking to you and you were sending the flowers, that Aspen was on the phone line listening and just heard you send her flowers.

02:18:47 - 02:18:49 | Unknown:

Hey, Ben. Hey.

02:18:49 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 2:

Joel. What's up? I'm assuming just by listening to this, just a thought that maybe you knew that it was us calling.

02:19:00 - 02:19:01 | Speaker 3:

Who, me?

02:19:02 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Did you know that this was Mojo in the morning?

02:19:06 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 3:

No, not at all.

02:19:08 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 2:

so so you you uh legitimately were sending your wife flowers why wouldn't i no i i'm not going to question that i just sometimes sometimes people know who we are they know when they do it they know the game and they play play some uh you know stuff with us and then we find out later they knew

02:19:30 - 02:19:38 | Speaker 3:

but no no no not at all not at all that's sort of that's sort of a little taken back by the fact

02:19:38 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

that you would even think something like that i apologize i'm sorry it's just from uh the fact that it's it's been history before but i i do want to let you know that we do this where we give people an opportunity to find out who their spouse is going to send flowers to because usually there's a suspicion and Aspen was a little

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 3:

freaked out when she noticed that and Aspen, maybe you can explain what did you see?

02:20:07 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 5:

Well, I was cleaning the linen closet and I found a box of condoms and there were some missing and, you know, we don't use them. What condoms? You know, the ones that were in the back of the linen closet.

02:20:20 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 7:

What closet was it?

02:20:23 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 5:

It was the linen closet in the front hallway with all the towels in it. Each towel.

02:20:28 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 7:

What?

02:20:30 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, there's a box of condoms in the back and there's two more things.

02:20:33 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 7:

They've been there forever. They've been there forever. I don't even go in there. I live in a closet.

02:20:43 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 3:

So you have not, you didn't even know you had those.

02:20:47 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 7:

I haven't been using those in forever.

02:20:50 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 1:

But you remember condoms being there? Because you said they've been there forever, so.

02:20:54 - 02:21:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, those are things we've been using for a long time ago. They've been stashed in that closet forever. I'm sure we could find a freaking dead body in there, too, the way we keep that living in the closet.

02:21:05 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 5:

That's why I was cleaning it out. And that's when I got it.

02:21:10 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 3:

So are we safe to assume that they've been in there forever and that you guys used all the condoms? You guys used them together. No, I want to ask that, Joel.

02:21:22 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I'm not going to lie. There's a little too much information, you know what I mean? so we've been beyond that for quite some time now what do you mean too much information too

02:21:34 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 3:

much information asking you about yeah i'm so confused what's he embarrassed about because i'm asking him if they have sex with each other yeah you know what i mean they just went from having

02:21:46 - 02:21:50 | Speaker 7:

flowers for you doing some civil service or something i don't know we're just hoping at

02:21:50 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 3:

some point you guys did actually consummate the relationship i i have to be honest with you that you know this is a very uncomfortable situation to be accused of but tell me about it no i i get that but i also sometimes i don't know sometimes i i listen to guys that we've uh in the past and we have busted a lot of guys over time cheating on their spouses and i always think to myself i'm like do they think that that we're dumb because i don't know i don't think so but i also think

02:22:24 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 7:

that you really don't understand that sometimes, you know, in this day and age, chivalry is dead. So, you know, trying to do a good thing for my wife. Unfortunately, she feels something, I think something I would never in a million years ever do.

02:22:37 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Well, we are going to send the flowers. So hang on one second. We're going to, we'll let you guys talk off the air. Okay.

02:22:45 - 02:22:46 | Speaker 7:

Thank you so much.

02:22:49 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 3:

And we will ask our listeners what they think. Cause I don't know. Thoughts. mojo on the morning show war of the roses kind of confusing here so aspen calls us up because she expects something's going on when she notices that condoms are missing from a box of condoms that they had that she knows that they did not use together we called up her husband and he was kind of a character wasn't he i just had this sense from the start of it that something Was not right Like I I don't know And I I'm not trying to doubt Anybody that does send Flowers to their spouse Like when they do it It's nice But Jules Did you have Any doubts in your mind Or am I just Like Got drama

02:23:39 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

No absolutely From the get go He was really sketchy He first He didn't know What closet it was How do you not know What closet you have In your own house Two He didn't know That he had the box of condoms and then all of a sudden wow those have been there forever so it just kind of seemed

02:23:58 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 3:

like he backtracked on himself a little bit well that is interesting it is interesting you know it's like i didn't know we still had you oh yeah where are those kind of you know like i don't know like i couldn't tell you what's inside of a medicine cabinet or or or you know linen closets

02:24:13 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 4:

or any of that stuff right but girls no especially in their own home because we're usually not things But we're usually the ones that pick up And know where things are

02:24:23 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 2:

She knows Some of my closets are a black hole I'm going to be honest with you I couldn't tell you what's in the back of them

02:24:31 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 3:

And Aspen actually kind of insinuated That it was kind of a mess Closet but I will say this That I have to as a guy ask Chelsea where everything is And maybe this guy is not Maybe this Joel is not But Alan what are your thoughts

02:24:45 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 6:

My thoughts are If he is truly cheating why would he hide condoms in a linen closet where she could find them right it would be a very dumb

02:24:55 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

hiding place because i'm i'm guessing she's the one you know

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 5:

bringing stuff in and out of that closet in terms of laundry or whatnot. So it'd be right there.

02:25:05 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 3:

Can I say something? I got this. There was nothing about him hiding them in there. That's where they kept them, I think.

02:25:12 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 2:

They both knew. I guess they kept them there, yeah. But who keeps, what couple keeps condoms?

02:25:17 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 6:

Don't you keep them in your nightstand so they're convenient when you need them? Or running down the hall?

02:25:22 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 3:

Either that or maybe that's their place that they also keep their Tylenol and, you know.

02:25:26 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 2:

My guess was, well, they don't want anyone to see them anymore. They don't use them. They just didn't throw them away, so they just put them on the top shelf in the back and weren't thinking about them. But, I mean, his reaction was a little weird. But also, how does she know exactly how many are in there if they just threw them up there and don't use them anymore?

02:25:43 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 5:

Well, because she recently found them, though, and counted them. Like, I get that.

02:25:48 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 2:

But she was saying there wasn't as many in there as usual. Yeah, she said there was two missing or something.

02:25:52 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 3:

Right. Michelle, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. War of the Roses. we actually had the flower sent to the right person, the person that we were hoping that they were going to go to. But we're never satisfied with that. We have doubts. Yeah. What's up? Oh, Michelle's going to take off.

02:26:08 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 5:

Am I the only one that is, I don't know, maybe I'm naive, but I kind of believe him.

02:26:12 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:26:13 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 5:

I do.

02:26:14 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 3:

People are talking about expiration date, and I don't understand the expiration date comments. A lot of texters are saying this. Let me grab Craig who said one of the comments. What were you going to say, Shannon?

02:26:24 - 02:26:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, you can take Craig first, but I just looked this up because I was curious how long condoms are good for.

02:26:30 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

Craig, why were you talking about expiration dates?

02:26:34 - 02:26:35 | Speaker 6:

Mojo, what's going on, bud?

02:26:35 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 3:

Nothing much, man. What's going on?

02:26:37 - 02:26:56 | Speaker 6:

Hey, yeah, so I work in retail, so there are definitely code dates on items. You know, you realize shampoo, all those different things, and code dates are definitely on condoms. So all I do is check the code date. It's been more than a couple years since they've used them. then I think the code date on most condoms are probably no more than two years.

02:26:56 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 3:

But what does that have to do with this?

02:26:58 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 5:

Five years. Wow. Up to five years they're good for.

02:27:01 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, are you saying that this guy is using bad condoms then if he's cheating?

02:27:06 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm saying like if they've been sitting in the closet and they both have not used them for a couple of years and they haven't been agreeing they haven't used them, there's your answer. They've been sitting there for five years.

02:27:15 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 3:

But the rapper wouldn't disintegrate, you know?

02:27:18 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 5:

And they only stopped using them a year and a half ago. So they'd still be good.

02:27:22 - 02:27:26 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but if he's cheating, yeah, but if the co-dates are newer compared to what they're Oh, I see what you mean.

02:27:26 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 5:

Okay, yeah.

02:27:27 - 02:27:29 | Speaker 2:

You're thinking he's replacing them.

02:27:29 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 6:

Then, obviously, he's not using them for Aspen if they're new.

02:27:32 - 02:27:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:27:33 - 02:27:34 | Speaker 6:

I see what you mean.

02:27:34 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that kind of threw me for a little bit of a loop. This one's going to throw everybody for a loop. Tara, what is your theory to this?

02:27:42 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 4:

Well, my theory potentially is that my significant other uses him for his own personal sexy time. What? To the movies. Wait. I'm not sure if that's just a quirk of him Or if more people do that But maybe I don't know how they would keep an exact count If they're not using them currently He doesn't use the sock

02:28:02 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that what guys do? Don't they use a sock?

02:28:05 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 3:

Let's move on No guy wants to talk about this That's really interesting

02:28:13 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 2:

But if he's doing that He used more than two in the last year and a half That's true That whole box you would be on

02:28:20 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 3:

That's interesting that your guy does this. How old are you guys?

02:28:25 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 4:

We are in our early 30s.

02:28:26 - 02:28:29 | Speaker 3:

Okay, that's interesting. That sounds to me.

02:28:29 - 02:28:30 | Speaker 4:

That's weird.

02:28:30 - 02:28:32 | Speaker 3:

That sounds like a teenager thing.

02:28:33 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 2:

I've heard of that before. To me, I don't know why you'd want to do that, but I've heard guys do it.

02:28:40 - 02:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Ken wants to defend Joel. What's up, Ken? Are you a friend of Joel's?

02:28:47 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely not.

02:28:48 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 3:

Why do you want to defend them?

02:28:50 - 02:29:00 | Speaker 7:

I'm not necessarily saying defend them, but, I mean, you know, why would you go into a closet if both you and your wife knew they were in there and take her from there? Why would you just go to a store?

02:29:01 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that seems logical. I mean, really, if you're cheating, why are you using the home condoms, you know?

02:29:05 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Yeah, and then, you know, on top of that, it seems like, you know, any time somebody calls up and it's like, you know, to me, it seems like you guys aren't happy unless they're proven guilty. Like, every single time.

02:29:18 - 02:29:22 | Speaker 3:

Listen here, Your Honor. You're out of order. I'm not allowed.

02:29:22 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 5:

I just said I think he's telling the truth, which doesn't happen very often.

02:29:27 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 7:

That's just what I get. Like, I knew it was coming as soon as he said, you know, he sent it to his wife that you guys are going to start.

02:29:33 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 3:

Ken, do you think that we love people's misery, Ken?

02:29:38 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 7:

A little bit.

02:29:39 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 1:

But we also do this every week, and every week they're cheating. So, like, the statistics are in our favor.

02:29:47 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. You know, I just feel that, like, you know, you made quite a few assumptions about the wife always putting the limb away. You're trying to say that she sits around the house and does.

02:30:00 - 02:30:13 | Speaker 2:

wife-y things all the time? Well, no, she's the one that said she cleaned out the closet and she likes to straighten things up, and he didn't even know they had a linen closet. And, you know, they laid that bed. We didn't imply anything about gender stereotypes.

02:30:14 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but if my wife said go to the linen closet, I don't know which closet I would go to, to be honest.

02:30:19 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 3:

I agree. The same.

02:30:20 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 5:

If it was in the bathroom or outside of it. You know, I have different terms for different things.

02:30:24 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 3:

I know, I know. Well, he got a little defensive fast on our conversation, which kind of scared me. But, Ken, I appreciate your call, and you sound like a long-time listener because you're absolutely right. We always just assume everybody's cheating. What's going on? Rob had a similar situation. I want to hear this story.

02:30:42 - 02:31:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, absolutely. Good morning again. Good morning. So, me and my wife, first of all, we've been there for almost 16 years. We were newlyweds as well. She drove my truck one time, and she said she found some condoms. I had, like, a box speaker. This was back when, you know, you had box speakers in your truck or whatever. And I had a box speaker in the truck and she said she found some condoms underneath the box speaker. And I swore, I'm like, I have no idea where they came from. You know, maybe my brother or friend, whatever. But I've never cheated on my wife. She found the condoms. I had no idea where they were, where they were from. So, I mean, it does happen. I mean, men don't actually cheat. You know, there is sometimes that things just happen like that. You know, they could have been in there for a while and they had the truck for a while. So I had no idea they were in there. I didn't use them, you know, so she believed me. And, you know, he just wanted to send some flowers, especially if they're going to have to pay any money to his wife.

02:31:57 - 02:31:58 | Speaker 3:

I think you're right.

02:31:58 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 2:

If he had stopped there, it probably wouldn't have been a big issue. I think he started to sound defensive and started to raise questions for us where there were no questions.

02:32:07 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 3:

Rob, we appreciate your listenership. Thank you, buddy. Thanks for being a part of the show. Absolutely, thank you guys. Take care. Allie, you caught your boyfriend cheating this way.

02:32:17 - 02:32:22 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so I caught my boyfriend cheating by looking at the expiration date on his condom.

02:32:23 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 3:

Tell us, what happened?

02:32:24 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 7:

And he was replacing his condoms in his condom box every single time that he used one. Because he knew that I would look in there and count and be able to see if they were missing.

02:32:37 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Interesting. So there was always the same number, but you noticed he was rotating through them. They weren't the same ones.

02:32:44 - 02:32:49 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, because he would get new ones that have a fresher expiration date. Right. Okay.

02:32:50 - 02:32:58 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's pretty amazing. Hold on a second. And Dina wants to comment on this. What's that, Dina? You're on with Allie, too?

02:32:59 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 8:

Hi, yeah. I just want to say, first of all, I love you guys. I listen every morning. We love you, too. Thank you. I want to say that I'm actually on the side of the guy. I'm usually not. But in this case, I think people are jumping overboard. I think that, if anything, this wife, I mean, she's counting condoms for who knows how long the condoms have been in there. I mean, I'll see if it was a brand new box of condoms. They both said that they've been in there a long time I mean, they could have taken one out Put it at the nightstand, forgot about it I think she's the one who's toxic In this situation

02:33:33 - 02:33:42 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you think her looking at the box of condoms Because I got Allie on with us right now She caught her boyfriend cheating because she counted condoms And looked at condoms You think that's a toxic thing to do?

02:33:43 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 8:

I think it is in this situation I don't know about Allie's situation But in this situation, it sounds like they had been in there a long time They both admitted to that I mean, I think, I don't know Allie's situation But unless it's like, okay, a very recent scenario where we just bought the condom, it's a new box of condoms. But in this case, they both admitted it had been in there a long time. I think his wife might have just jumped to conclusions. And I don't think that people are saying, oh, he didn't know that they had a closet. He never said that. He said which closet. Yeah, yeah.

02:34:11 - 02:34:13 | Speaker 3:

He didn't know what he was just talking about when she said linen closet.

02:34:14 - 02:34:18 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I mean, people are, I mean, I'm on the side of this guy. I really do think he was sincere.

02:34:18 - 02:34:21 | Speaker 3:

This is, by the way, history in the making. Women are sticking up for the guy. I know.

02:34:22 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 6:

Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

02:34:27 - 02:34:37 | Speaker 1:

The Prince and Princess of Wales met booze courtside at the Celtics game last night. I've got that, plus a good morning America affair scandal. I'll fill you in coming up in the 30s.

02:34:38 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 6:

Who is seen with who? Who's banging who? And what will you be talking about all day? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes. On Mojo in the Morning. Man, I miss complaining about the heat. Shut up. This is Mojo in the Morning. Want to win tickets?

Text in the word JINGLE to 95500 and you have a chance to win tickets now. Jingle Ball tickets powered by the Monroe Street Midway. Find out more at deckedoutdetroit.com. Special thanks to everybody that's making Jingle Ball possible. I saw last night we had Dallas' Jingle Ball for Kiss in Dallas. Our good friend Paul Corvino now runs the Dallas stations, and today is his birthday. The most interesting ex-boss in the world.

02:35:43 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 1:

I was excited to see that get underway because that's the first Jingle Ball of a two-week locomotive going through town, and the artists change up a little bit from city to city, and I really do think we have the best lineup of the whole tour.

02:35:56 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 2:

Do you think that Paul made them put them up on stage? like he did with us when we would have our concerts.

02:36:01 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 3:

For sure. I bet there was a video with Paul is the star.

02:36:05 - 02:36:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm sure he made Mark Cuban do a video with him and the basketball team and have, like, or maybe with who owns the Cowboys, Jerry Jones. I'm sure he did, like, some kind of power move.

02:36:18 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 3:

We need to find this out. Yeah.

02:36:20 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 2:

Would not be funny if Paul was up there with Trick Trick.

02:36:24 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 1:

Everybody in Dallas is like, who's that?

02:36:26 - 02:36:32 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to see what's trending this hour with the dirty on the 30.

02:36:33 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 3:

So Prince William and Kate Middleton, surprise basketball fans, making a surprise appearance at the Boston Celtics game against the Miami Heat last night. They sat courtside. And because of everything that's going on in the U.K. right now, I mean, there's a big racism scandal that, I mean, it's not new. It's been happening forever. But when they came up on the Jumbotron, that may be why some fans booed them. Other fans just chanted USA.

02:36:57 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 2:

This racism scandal is interesting. I did not know about it until this story broke. But it's the queen's sister or something, right?

02:37:06 - 02:37:10 | Speaker 4:

No, it was her lady-in-waiting. What's that? A lady-in-waiting?

02:37:11 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 3:

I believe Prince William's godmother.

02:37:13 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 4:

Correct. Yeah. And had worked with the family for 60 years. When the queen died, instead of her losing her job, they gave her a new position where she was going to... Her job is to, like, kind of host things happening now at the palace. But what is interesting about her is she was actually assigned to help Meghan Markle assimilate to the family when she kind of moved over and joined. And now, learning how racist this woman is, it's kind of interesting that when Meghan Markle said, hey, things are pretty racist over here. Everybody said, you're lying. But now the woman has admitted that she says racist things. And nobody's saying, I'm sorry, Meghan Markle.

02:37:54 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 2:

The allegation is interesting that's coming against her because it's caught on tape. And it was this black woman, right, that was visiting or whatever. Yes. And she kept asking her where you're from. And she said, I'm from England. Yeah. And she said, no, no, no, where are you from? And kept asking that question. So it's now come out. I wonder if she's the one that they were talking about in that interview they did with Oprah as the who's the racist.

02:38:17 - 02:38:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm sure she's one of them. I was going to say, I don't think there was just one, but by the way, the royal couple are going to be in Boston until tomorrow. Christine McVie, a Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter who wrote so many hits, including this one, Don't Stop. She has passed away. She was 79 years old, died in a hospital surrounded by her family. Family said she suffered from a short illness. I did not know this. She was married to John McVie, the Fleetwood Mac bassist.

02:38:43 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 1:

They were all in relations with each other over the course of the band's career. I don't know how I didn't know that.

02:38:47 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know that.

02:38:48 - 02:38:53 | Speaker 1:

They all lived in one big house, the whole band, and this one's sleeping with this one, then that one's sleeping with this one. Oh, yeah.

02:38:53 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, Stevie Nicks wrote a letter and said she is just so distraught after losing her best friend in the whole world, said she had no clue Christine was sick until this past weekend, wanted to be with her to comfort her, but was told to wait, and so she never got to say goodbye. But she finished her letter by writing, see you on the other side, my love. Don't forget me. The U.S. women's national team will get half of the money won by the U.S. men's soccer team at the World Cup Under the equal pay agreement that was signed just this year Both teams are splitting the prize money for the World Cup

02:39:27 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 2:

Is the Women's World Cup going on at the same time or is that a different time? I don't follow soccer

02:39:33 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 4:

I don't think they do it at the same time

02:39:35 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

No, yeah, but it means that both teams will get $6.5 million for the men's team beating Iran to advance to the 16th round, and they will continue to split that prize money down the middle depending on how far the team advances. It is a Good Morning America scandal. A little affair that the cover has been blown off of. Anchors Amy Robach and TJ Holmes, who technically are both still married.

02:40:00 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 2:

have been having an affair for months. Now, you might see them together on GMA3, the midday version of Good Morning America. They've done that for a couple of years. They've covered a bunch of events together, including the Queen's Jubilee, where this affair is said to have started. They trained for the New York City Half Marathon together.

02:40:21 - 02:40:22 | Speaker 3:

The pictures are wild.

02:40:23 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, the Daily Mail is publishing a lot of pictures of them holed up in a corner of a pub in Times Square After taping Good Morning America one morning

02:40:32 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 3:

Grabbing her ass

02:40:33 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 2:

Them going to and from each other's apartments Now Both are married Both left their respective spouses Back in August Ahead of everybody finding out about this And both have deactivated Their Instagram account

02:40:49 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm always intrigued When people have affairs That they're so bolden To go out in public Especially if people know who they are And they're like There's one picture These guys are at a bar And he's got his head on her shoulders And cuddling with her Like the ass grabbing one

02:41:09 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 2:

She has her head in his lap What is she doing?

02:41:14 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Is she trying to get an exclusive interview? Is that what she's got going on there?

02:41:18 - 02:41:19 | Speaker 2:

I think she's just laughing really hard

02:41:19 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 3:

Wait, she's laughed so hard That her head went down to his lap

02:41:23 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean?

02:41:25 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 3:

That's how I got Allie what time does their their show start so we're trying to figure that out every city is different every city they're not they weren't on so tj holmes fills in for uh michael strahan who's on vacation he was on yesterday but he's not on today which makes me feel like guess who's not gonna be on today i don't think those guys are gonna be on yeah i was telling the week shannon there's actually a scandal going on at abc right now some are saying that uh the weather guy rob Marciano, I think we're the only people that know who these people are because we love watch media. So they're saying that Rob Marciano was also possibly cheating because he just got divorced. They're calling ABC the new Fox News because Fox News had all the people that cheated with each other about four years ago or so.

02:42:14 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, the IRS is going after assets that belong, soon to be, belonged to Kwame Kilpatrick after the federal government says he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid income taxes stemming from his time in office as the mayor of Detroit. $634,000 is what he owes. And our buddy Charlie Langton said public records show the IRS actually filed a lien in Georgia five months ago. It was like their first step in attempting to collect what they are owed.

02:42:46 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 4:

You done set me up for a

02:42:48 - 02:42:56 | Speaker 2:

comeback. According to the lien, Kwame didn't pay income taxes from 2003 to 2008, so they're going after his assets, like his house, etc.

02:42:56 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 4:

I like him. Yeah. Yeah.

02:42:59 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 2:

wkq ifm hd2 and hd3 detroit wsnx muskegon grand rapids wvks toledo This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live.

02:47:04 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Listen to our podcast. If you don't listen to our show live, we appreciate it. We've got all kinds of them. We've got our regular show podcast, which you just search Mojo in the Morning. And then the After Show podcast, More Mojo, which includes podcasts of the entire show and also Mike and Megan's show, the Slightly Messy podcast, which I understand if there's truth to this, please speak up. I understand that Mike was broadcasting the podcast from a very interesting location yesterday. Is there any truth to this rumor?

02:47:41 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 7:

Yes, there is truth to that. I was driving. We decided that I was going to drive home and we're going to do the podcast that way. So I just did it, put my AirPods in and drove home and did the podcast for my car. And then at about, I think, Portland-ish off of 96, I had to pee. So we could have ended the podcast right there. But Megan's like, just go in. Just go ahead. We'll keep it going. And I'm like, okay. So I just walked in and went to the urinals. And this is a whole side thing, but they need to change a lot of things in public restrooms because the urinals do not need to be in a U-shape where you're standing there and basically back-to-back with dudes. I think that's the weirdest thing in the entire world.

02:48:21 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 4:

No, the weirdest would be face-to-face.

02:48:23 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I guess I don't want to look in the eyes while I'm peeing somebody else.

02:48:26 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 6:

Could you imagine? Hey there, high five. They actually, there's some sporting arenas where that was the case, where you would pee and then you'd look.

02:48:35 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, everybody remembers the troughs of the Red Wings, Joe Louis Arena, but Mojo's talking about there was some circles where you'd go up and pee into like a fountain. And there's a guy, like, looking over. Yeah.

02:48:45 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 6:

And I always would sit there and go, I'd had, like, the worst stage fright. Yeah. I couldn't, like, get my pee out because I would be like, man, these guys are hung. This is craziness.

02:48:56 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 7:

So I walk in, and she's like, as I'm going, I thought she's just going to sit there and, like, listen. And I don't know what she was going to do while I was peeing. But she starts feeding me lines to say to these guys as I'm standing at the urinal. And I'm like, no, I'm not going to say these things. Oh, my God, I love it. Yeah, so I think we have audio of the line. Good, okay.

02:49:14 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 6:

Am I playing it or are you playing it?

02:49:15 - 02:49:16 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I think I sent it to you.

02:49:17 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 6:

Oh, you did? Where did you send it to me?

02:49:18 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 7:

Your email. I can play it from here. No, hold on.

02:49:20 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 6:

If you want, whatever you want.

02:49:21 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 7:

I want you to play it from your end.

02:49:23 - 02:49:32 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I'm going to play it from. Oh, here it is. Okay, I like it. Potty pod audio is what it's called. Potty pod audio. Here we go.

02:49:32 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 7:

I'm in your headphones, right?

02:49:33 - 02:49:34 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:49:34 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 6:

Say this again? Oh, that was Megan.

02:49:37 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 7:

That's part of it, you guys. Oh, that was. I thought you just said it now I thought you just said that now

02:49:42 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 4:

That's what I thought We're a Lansinger This is the recording Yes, you're in You know why? You didn't give us the dream sequence

02:49:49 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 5:

You remember we went into a bathroom Yeah, where's the dream sequence?

02:49:51 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 4:

You need to give us a segue

02:49:52 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 6:

No, you know what this is like? This is like when people do those messages on their phone And they're like Hi Hello Hello, you ever do that? And then you talk back to him and you're like, what the hell's that? All right, here we go. All right, this is from the Potty Podcast.

02:50:06 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm in your headphones, right? Uh-huh. Nobody can hear me? Uh-uh. Is anybody else in there? Mm-hmm.

02:50:14 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 5:

I'm standing in a urinal peeing right now.

02:50:16 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 4:

Ask him how big it is. Nope. Nope, we're going to do it. Ask him how he walks with that thing. Ask him his grooming routine. just ask him if you can help

02:50:35 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 3:

oh what else can we ask him

02:50:40 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 6:

this is like that impractical joker show

02:50:43 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 3:

he's produced for that there's a lot of people

02:50:48 - 02:50:52 | Speaker 2:

how come they're talking and you're not talking

02:50:52 - 02:51:07 | Speaker 5:

yeah wait well first off again where are you again I'm standing at a little like the little urinal not even the normal size adult urinal I'm standing at the U-shaped urinal peeing while she's saying these things in my ears, and there's dudes at every single other urinal.

02:51:08 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 6:

And what public restroom is this? Is this a truck stop, or what is this?

02:51:11 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like one of those public ones off of 96. I think it was the Portland one.

02:51:15 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 6:

This shows you how busy we are at this time of the year. Mike has to, and Megan has to, they have to do the podcast, Mike on the road, and Mike had to go to the bathroom, which...

02:51:24 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 1:

I'm giggling and peeing, and it's weird.

02:51:26 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 6:

oh did it stop it might have stopped it might have been bad internet there for a second hold on hold on stand by stand by we're back no where did it go stand by it's called bad internet bad internet air i've seen your headphones right all right here we go hold on yeah uh-huh nobody

02:51:47 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 3:

just answered you again how many children he's produced for that Oh my god

02:51:53 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

There's a lot of people

02:51:55 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

02:51:56 - 02:51:59 | Speaker 2:

How come they're talking and you're not talking

02:51:59 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 1:

Because I'm giggling and peeing And it's weird I don't know what you can hear in the headphones

02:52:15 - 02:52:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh it's very loud Did you wash your hands? Yeah it's something I know

02:52:19 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 4:

What kind of, do they have one of those Dyson hand dryers or?

02:52:26 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 5:

It looked like a laser. Like it was like, turn my hand, like it's got like a blue light under it. It was all fancy in there, by the way. Like big bushy beard men. Big, huge bushy beard men. I was like the little kids were giggling the whole f***ing time.

02:52:40 - 02:53:13 | Speaker 6:

mike i i think it's funny that their overalls and hunting gear if i had oh jeez if i had to bet would mike do it i would have bet yes because mike does just about anything these guys must have been so big and so burly and you're in the middle of nowhere in michigan off of 96 there and you you got scared to do it i actually

02:53:13 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 5:

i'm shocked you know what the difference was is when you're doing it on the radio there's three million people listening and they know they know where you are but the people in the in the building don't know what's going on which makes it funny but also kind of safe like it feels a little bit so we're doing it on a podcast it's just megan and i and i'm out there by myself and yes these were giant hunting like they just got done hunting men like just huge there were big overalls and orange gear with big bushy beards and we're back to back. Megan you had great questions or great

02:53:45 - 02:54:03 | Speaker 6:

comments for Mike to say like that was honestly good prompts and Mike I agree with you I probably it's funny it's the radio safeness of it I feel safe enough that if I that I have at least more than just megan on the other end to to like save my ass if all of a sudden you know one of these

02:54:03 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 1:

guys starts pummeling nobody's saving your ass if you're gonna get pummeled you're gonna get pummeled i know it doesn't matter who's listening it's safer on the radio for some reason i don't

02:54:10 - 02:54:16 | Speaker 6:

know there's some kind of a comfort in knowing my last words were said on the radio not on a podcast

02:54:16 - 02:54:21 | Speaker 5:

yeah and what if only three people listen to that podcast but like four people listen on the radio

02:54:21 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 4:

No, because I would have clickbaited, titled it, and said, Mike got murdered. Listen here.

02:54:26 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 6:

You guys have, by the way, the Slightly Messy Podcast. You can get it off the More Mojo platform. You guys have some of the biggest listenership. I don't even know if you guys realize this, but your downloads are in the hundreds of thousands.

02:54:39 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really?

02:54:40 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Yeah. No, it's amazing. The only problem is many of those don't come actually just on the Wednesday that you release it. they come like a week later so they wouldn't find out that mike died a week until a week later but you know you get them over the course of a week people check up with you guys so

02:54:56 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 4:

we're very inappropriate over there listen to that podcast go check

02:55:00 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 1:

Check that podcast out. You can go, and listen, I'm going to say this to you. That podcast, their podcast is better than any true crimes podcast. I know everybody loves those true crime stuff, but that is a true crime. Mike in the bathroom. It's a pee crime. That's awesome.

02:55:14 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.

02:55:15 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 1:

Good stuff. All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. A couple of things before we leave here today that we got to get into. Oh, Megan, since I got your attention, I'm going to.

02:55:28 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 3:

What did you say at length?

02:55:30 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 1:

Because sometimes Megan's, you know, snoring in the corner of the studio. But usually when we talk about our kids, for some reason she cares nothing about our children if we're talking about it. So Megan has a friend who has the weirdest kink ever. And she found out about it in passing with him talking about a new girl that he was just with.

02:55:52 - 02:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so he was getting down and dirty with a new lady in his life. We love to hear it. and um I was like oh was it was it good and he was like it is the best that I've ever had and I said oh do tell and he was getting into it he said I had never felt like I was better in bed and I said were you trying something new was she into something you had you know never done before like what happened and he was like oh this had never happened before I was like give me the deets give of the deeds he had hooked up with a girl who had asthma and she had an asthma attack in the middle of her session and he said he had never felt more accomplished than literally knocking the wind out of something he was like from here on out i want a girl with an inhaler but the inhaler has to be across the room because if she's getting out of the bed and walking across and she can't breathe i did my job when did this happen as a fellow asthmatic i'm asking

02:56:52 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 4:

this question for a reason. What time of year? Like recently? Yeah, recently. Yeah, you know, because you have flare-ups throughout the year. This is one of those times. So it's like half him, half seasonal.

02:57:05 - 02:57:11 | Speaker 1:

Don't tell him, though. Don't tell him. Let him think. Has that ever happened to you? I'm more of a man. Has that ever happened to you, Shannon?

02:57:11 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 4:

Many times. Honest to God, many times.

02:57:13 - 02:57:15 | Speaker 3:

Really? And you get the inhaler out?

02:57:15 - 02:57:25 | Speaker 4:

And quite honestly, it's super embarrassing. Really? Because you sound like that. And you can't breathe, and you have to stop.

02:57:25 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 1:

I would be worried I was going to kill you. Right.

02:57:28 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm good.

02:57:29 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 1:

No, but for this guy and stuff, too, he's so excited about this whole thing. What happens if she goes into an asthma attack moment that you can't revive her from?

02:57:40 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if she gets a blue ring around her lips, you brush her to the hospital. Pardon me? No, that really happens. From lack of air.

02:57:47 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Thankfully, she was able to communicate. And, like, at the beginning was like, I'm having an asthma attack. So it wasn't like he was completely caught off guard. They weren't mid-session. She just passed out on the bed. I think that would be a little bit scarier.

02:57:59 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 4:

The good thing is once you take that inhaler, a couple puffs, you're good.

02:58:03 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 1:

I think only, and I may be over-exaggerating this, I think only maybe twice in my entire relationship with Chelsea has she ever done the roll over on the bed and go, like that. Okay, maybe once But she's only When she has done that It makes me feel like I'm a freaking stallion You know what I mean? Because I do it every time Do you think this girl has to At some point again Pretend that she's having an asthma attack now? Yes Oh my god, you'll never be able to have sex with her ever again

02:58:40 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 4:

She set the bar real high

02:58:42 - 02:58:47 | Speaker 1:

If she doesn't have an asthma attack ever again You're thinking, oh my god, I was horrible Yeah

02:58:47 - 02:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he kind of set the bar really high at the beginning, right?

02:58:50 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly What's up, Michelle? How you doing?

02:58:54 - 02:58:56 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, how are you guys?

02:58:56 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 1:

We're good Not as good as this guy What say you?

02:59:01 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 2:

So this is so embarrassing But if I have a really, really good Big O Like really good one It sometimes causes a seizure Oh my gosh That's crazy My husband knows just to stuff my mouth full, and that is it.

02:59:19 - 02:59:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Oh, my Lord. It sounds dangerous.

02:59:24 - 02:59:26 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever been put in the hospital? Oh, yeah.

02:59:27 - 02:59:30 | Speaker 4:

Like from bacon cookies and doing it and having a seizure?

02:59:31 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, my God.

02:59:33 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 1:

Like, is your seizure, you say that he has to stick. Is it like one of those ones where they have to, like, you'll, like, bite your tongue or something? Or what's the story?

02:59:43 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 2:

No. What happens is my calcium drops when I have the big O, and it causes my body can't rebound, so he has to stuff my mouth full of Tums.

02:59:57 - 03:00:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh, full of Tums. Tums, she said. I don't want to ruin the big O, though, just a mouthful of Tums.

03:00:03 - 03:00:07 | Speaker 3:

Can't you just, like, load up on a big milkshake before? You need some calcium?

03:00:08 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 1:

Question, does he get a high five afterwards if that happens?

03:00:11 - 03:00:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I've high-fived him after.

03:00:15 - 03:00:34 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing. Be careful. All he's got to do is shake the bottle now. Karen, listen to this one. In the middle of having, you know, naughty time baking cookies, what happened to you? Karen?

03:00:35 - 03:00:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I want to hear her story.

03:00:36 - 03:00:50 | Speaker 1:

She's there. I can hear her somewhere. Karen? Oh, my God. You're going to... I'm staying with her because maybe she's having it right now. Karen. Karen. Whoever's on our phone line, say hello. Maybe your name's not Karen.

03:00:52 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 2:

Erin?

03:00:53 - 03:01:08 | Speaker 1:

maryn sharon lauren lauren hello maryn karen here see if they're there kp answer that line back because i want her to tell that story that's a wild story here we are talking about this about

03:01:08 - 03:01:13 | Speaker 3:

megan's guy friend change the name because it is hard to hear sometimes i think it's you know what

03:01:13 - 03:01:30 | Speaker 1:

it is she's on a bluetooth and those those freaking bluetooths you can't sometimes hear Oh, we got disconnected from her. Yeah. Okay. That's a callback. She ended up having a medical issue. I've never heard of this ever happening to somebody. She had a gallbladder attack.

03:01:31 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 3:

What?

03:01:31 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 1:

Having a big O.

03:01:33 - 03:01:35 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Yeah. What is that?

03:01:35 - 03:01:36 | Speaker 1:

Her gallbladder?

03:01:36 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 3:

But, like, what happens?

03:01:37 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, I think it's big stomach pains, right? Isn't it?

03:01:40 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 3:

Did she doody?

03:01:42 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 1:

Did she drop a grumpy? i don't i don't necessarily know if that's exactly what happens when when you're i thought that some human being had actually dropped a

03:02:00 - 03:02:07 | Speaker 2:

grumpy as she's frantically trying to call us back so we don't spread that

03:02:07 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 1:

A lot of asthmatics calling us up saying that this happens to them.

03:02:14 - 03:02:14 | Speaker 3:

It's a very real thing.

03:02:14 - 03:02:18 | Speaker 1:

That this happens to them a lot. Hello, Mojo in the morning. Hi.

03:02:19 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I just wanted to comment on what happened during the sexual moment.

03:02:25 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 1:

Yes, what happened?

03:02:27 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 2:

So for me, I had just been with this guy for not even a month. And I had an ovarian, actually, rupture.

03:02:36 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my goodness.

03:02:37 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 2:

I was dealing with a lot of pain, and I was like, oh, no, it's nothing, it's nothing, but then I just laid in bed, and like 10 more minutes went by, and we ended up going to the hospital. He'd only known me for like a month and stayed there at like 2 in the morning with me.

03:02:54 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 1:

I've heard that a lot of times that people will find out that they have an ovarian cyst from intercourse. So were you making any kind of like I mean it had to be very painful When that happened Did he think it was him that was the reason why

03:03:10 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 2:

No well I actually don't know So like I had these nipple clamps on At the time

03:03:15 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 1:

That'll do it

03:03:17 - 03:03:22 | Speaker 2:

So you went to the hospital

03:03:22 - 03:03:24 | Speaker 1:

With your nipple clamps on

03:03:24 - 03:03:44 | Speaker 2:

No I did not Leave them on then I'd taken them off I'm like maybe this is not helping the pain So I decided to take them off, and I tried to go to sleep and laid there for like another 10 minutes or so, and the pain just got worse. You know, I often get that kind of stimulation confused with my ovaries, so I get where you got confused.

03:03:45 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 1:

That is unbelievable. Well, we're glad that you're okay. Everything worked out. What a story. By the way, when she just threw that out there, it was like, well, I had my... It was all casual. I love our listeners. When you get to that part. Karen, you're back with us. Yeah, Karen. You are there, Karen. Karen, were you okay? You had a gallbladder attack in the middle of sex?

03:04:05 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, it's true. I thought I had food poisoning. He had taken me out to dinner. This is when the Michigan-Michigan State game was, and we were going to go watch the game back at the room. And anyways, I was like, I think I'm going to be sick. So I excused myself when he got sick and then came back because I'm no quitter. and then i said oh no i i think i think i would be sick again so i went in the bathroom and yeah i got sick again and i came back out and i said okay let's try this again oh my gosh this poor man so then i said i'm sorry but i really think you're gonna have to take me to the hospital i think i'm having a heart attack or something anyway wait karen wait long story short did he did he get to finish before he went to the hospital yes oh gosh

03:05:00 - 03:05:02 | Speaker 4:

Were you okay, Karen? Were you safe?

03:05:03 - 03:05:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. I went to the emergency room and proceeded to continue getting sick. I made poor man call my mother and everything. Oh, my gosh. I'm with your daughter, Kelly. I mean, Karen. You didn't even know your name. Karen.

03:05:20 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

03:05:21 - 03:05:24 | Speaker 1:

My mom said, you're with my who, your what?

03:05:25 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. I'm so glad we got you on To tell that story because that story is so great Thank you so much for the call

03:05:33 - 03:05:38 | Speaker 5:

A little jealous though Woman's never been with me and said Wow, you moved my organs

03:05:38 - 03:05:52 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe also The other people that are calling Joe, Joe you there? Yeah, hi, how you doing? Poor Joe You thought you were really good Until you found out what, Joe?

03:05:53 - 03:06:49 | Speaker 3:

So um we'd been together about a year she had a toddler so we were always real quiet in a one bedroom apartment and then she got pregnant fast with our first one so it was always quiet and quick and quiet and quick right so about a year and a half into it was our first valentine's day together you know being alone and and actually spending some real time without kids around So we really, you know, really, you know, let loose. Baked a lot of cookies. Yeah, and it was the first time we spent a lot of time, and it was the first time she'd ever experienced one after another. And then the multiples, and it hit her so hard so fast, she thought she was having a big heart attack. I ended up having to take her to the hospital because she was having panic attacks because she had never experienced that before. Dude, did you feel like that, man? Give this man a bit. Ah, someone.

03:06:49 - 03:06:50 | Speaker 4:

You should be awarded.

03:06:50 - 03:06:56 | Speaker 3:

Bragger. Bragger. I did. I did at first, and then I felt bad afterwards. You know what I'm saying?

03:06:57 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Joe, you stallion you.

03:07:00 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 3:

Well, no, because then after the longest time, then she was, like, hesitant and scared.

03:07:05 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so she didn't want to do it anymore because of that.

03:07:07 - 03:07:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

03:07:08 - 03:07:10 | Speaker 4:

You guys are together still, right?

03:07:11 - 03:07:12 | Speaker 3:

Yes, yes.

03:07:12 - 03:07:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're a wonderful guy. She's going to love that you called us up to tell us that story. By the way Play her the podcast later tonight While you guys are in bed See what she says

03:07:23 - 03:07:26 | Speaker 2:

I love that he kept saying quiet and quick

03:07:26 - 03:07:36 | Speaker 4:

What's her first name I'll say hi to her right now So she can hear her name on the radio Jill Hi Jill We're glad you're safe

03:07:36 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 5:

I would tell that story at every party

03:07:38 - 03:08:32 | Speaker 4:

Alright take care buddy We appreciate it Bye Never I in my life ever done that And Norm probably will. All right, top trending stories of the day. I want to bring this up right now because I think that this is worth mentioning. Why a four-day work week could be in your future. I got your attention, didn't I? So, well, the verdict is in. A four-day work week is actually good for business. they've done this trial now about 33 companies did a trial with 903 workers doing the schedule of a four-day work week what they would do is they would work four days 32 hours by the way and get paid the same that they would have gotten for a five-day 40-hour work week yeah well we all

03:08:32 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 5:

already knew this they've known this for years well other countries it's been the standard this is just the companies trying now like that people want to work from home they're like how do we get them back we'll finally listen to them and say maybe we could do a four-day work week the trial

03:08:45 - 03:09:10 | Speaker 4:

was so good for the company earnings the average revenue rose 38 percent compared to last same period a year ago yeah about 97 percent of the 495 workers who did this responded that they'd like to continue the four-day work week three percent said that they'd rather go back to the five-day work week because they said that they felt lonely at home. Okay, that's

03:09:10 - 03:09:14 | Speaker 5:

fine, Linda. You can have your five-day work week and come in on a Sunday if you want.

03:09:14 - 03:09:23 | Speaker 2:

Although, I'm sure a big issue here is school, right? Yeah. Because if you're going into the office only four days a week and then you have that fifth day a week, well, I guess then you're at home.

03:09:23 - 03:09:43 | Speaker 5:

Never mind. What's the issue? Here's the deal. Never mind. We'll see you guys. I need a day off tomorrow. This is our Friday show. We're going to try it out. Because you have a job to do and if you can get, everyone here can do the same job in four days we can do in five days right there's a certain amount of walking around the office to get coffee and talking to your co-workers if you know you can have a day off

03:12:38 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 1:

Tomorrow morning, wait till you hear where Shannon's elf on the shelf was. She's going to talk. Tomorrow morning, be listening to the show for that one.

03:12:48 - 03:12:49 | Speaker 4:

It's necessary.

03:12:49 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 1:

But I told Shannon this morning, I said to her, I go, I dreaded the holidays because of that stupid elf. You little ho, ho, ho. Put an elf in your pants.

03:13:00 - 03:13:01 | Speaker 2:

There's a reason to wait.

03:13:02 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 1:

She'll tell it tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, make sure that you're listening to the show. And you guys can take part in that whole thing. And last but not least story I've been wanting to bring this up for days Because I saw this when I was walking around 12 Oaks Mall Have you guys ever been by a Victoria's Secret lately? Go to a Victoria's Secret and see for yourself What is up with the fact That they have Sexy Santa Candy cane Lingerie now So it basically Your partner, you are dressing up As Santa Claus To turn on your guy I don't think you're doing it just because you want to wear that in bed. But honestly, do we want to have Santa Claus be sexualized like that?

03:13:48 - 03:13:54 | Speaker 4:

Well, you're a guy. Answer that question. Would it turn you on if Chelsea came to bed wearing that? Or would you just have a good laugh?

03:13:55 - 03:14:03 | Speaker 1:

Like, honestly, I definitely would not laugh because I do not want to laugh because if I did that, that would be the last that I had ever had any sexual.

03:14:03 - 03:14:06 | Speaker 4:

I would be laughing. I could not wear that with a straight face.

03:14:06 - 03:14:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I couldn't either, you know what I mean?

03:14:08 - 03:14:12 | Speaker 4:

The Hallmark Channel sexualizes Santa all the time, and we seem to be okay with it, so why not?

03:14:12 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 1:

Really? But, I mean, are there people that dress up as Santa Claus to have sex?

03:14:18 - 03:14:24 | Speaker 4:

No, but it's always like this 30-year-old widower, and his name is Chris, and it's his family business, and you know what I mean?

03:14:24 - 03:14:28 | Speaker 3:

Wait, can you stop picking on the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, please? No, I will never.

03:14:28 - 03:14:28 | Speaker 1:

But it's 100% accurate.

03:14:28 - 03:14:31 | Speaker 3:

This is a hill I will die on, and I don't care.

03:14:31 - 03:14:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know I don't know if necessarily that I think Santa You know, especially when I'm walking by And I see these little kids You should have seen, by the way This little kid walking by and seeing this ad There was a little kid with his mom And he looks up and he sees this It's called the Candy Cane Apron And he sees the picture That's inside of him

03:14:52 - 03:14:57 | Speaker 4:

Legit, I have to avoid Victoria's Secret If I'm with Smith at the mall Because he's always like

03:14:57 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Mom, I see her

03:14:59 - 03:15:05 | Speaker 4:

Boop! Boobs. It's such a big deal. And the Santa Claus one would ruin him.

03:15:06 - 03:15:14 | Speaker 3:

I think the first boobs I ever saw, not live in action, but the first time I ever saw it was going into Victoria's Secret with my mom or my sister or something.

03:15:14 - 03:15:18 | Speaker 5:

It's just red and white lingerie, right? You're not dressing like Santa Claus.

03:15:18 - 03:15:20 | Speaker 6:

No, it's very reminiscent of Santa's suit.

03:15:20 - 03:15:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

03:15:22 - 03:15:24 | Speaker 7:

Santa Claus is coming to town.

03:15:24 - 03:15:31 | Speaker 5:

All right. Wouldn't even be in the top 50 most kinky things our listeners have done, according to all the crazy stories and texts we got today.

03:15:31 - 03:17:22 | Speaker 3:

But if somebody from Grand Rapids comes out, I'm going to tell you something. We'll make it worth your while. I'll kiss your lips.

03:17:24 - 03:17:25 | Speaker 2:

There are other things we could offer, too.

03:17:31 - 03:17:37 | Speaker 2:
