Hey there, I'm Kat. I'm a college athlete. I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, which caused back pain and stiffness every day. With Cosentix, I'm able to stay active.

00:03:22 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 6:

good morning welcome to the mojo in the morning show happy jingle ball day excited for tonight It's finally arrived December the 6th 2022 The jingle ball tonight Is going to be so much fun And we are so excited By the way, ticket sales yesterday were just like ridiculous And there are still tickets available But our bosses are saying You better go check it out quick I actually had like All the people that I forgot Asked me for tickets Text me yesterday So it was one of those days Whereas all of a sudden I'm like getting the text message, you know, from Jen Sawala. Hey, can my cousin get those tickets that you promised? I'm like, oh, crap. I forgot about those. And then the text message that came in, you know, from my favorite waitress over at Eddie's, you know, and then. Is it Laura? I mean, everybody. Is she coming? Well, Laura has something going on and she said she cannot come. But I then promised that Laura's tickets will go to somebody else, and somebody else then contacted me. But it was one of those things where it's like I only said yes to like maybe six people.

00:04:54 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I'm glad you said that because when I said no to a lot of people and then they hear you say you're giving them out to waitresses, I'm like, no, no, no.

00:05:00 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

I swear I couldn't get you tickets. Well, can I tell you what ended up happening then? So I ended up, like yesterday was the day of gift cards. You remember all those gift cards that you guys have given me over the years and friends and family have given me over the years? Yeah. And I was telling you guys about how I have a gift card drawer. So I ran out of the comp tickets that Tony gave me. And let me take this jacket off because it's going to be like this all morning.

00:05:25 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 2:

I like it though.

00:05:26 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 1:

Sorry.

00:05:26 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

I like it.

00:05:27 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, I got flustered in here. All right, so I went through my gift cards because I realized, oh, crap, I think I'm short. And I found a couple of Visa gift cards and a couple of Amex gift cards that were given to me by somebody. I have no idea who it is. And then I found a 313 Presents card. So that's where we're having it. It's 313 Presents. It's the people from Little Caesars Arena. I ended up buying two pair of tickets for people. One of them was for friends of Chelsea and I, Katie and Mandy, her friend, and then another two people. I'm going to tell you guys something. If I could have used that – what's that place that you bought me a gift card to, Megan? Oh, the float spa. The float spa? Yeah. No, it's the one where you sit there and you go in and you just kind of like sit there and float in water, right? Isn't it?

00:06:26 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes. It's a deprivation tank.

00:06:28 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 1:

Deprivation tank. If I could have used that.

00:06:30 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 2:

Is that called Revive?

00:06:31 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 1:

If I, no, I don't even know this.

00:06:33 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

That's the one that closed. That's the one I remember when I told you the other day. I was like, it permanently closed.

00:06:36 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 1:

Well, if I could have used that gift card, I would have used that gift card.

00:06:40 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 2:

True rest. True rest.

00:06:41 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 1:

True rest. I was looking at Chili's gift cards, which, by the way, who doesn't love Chili's chips and salsa? Have you ever tried Chili's chips and salsa? They're so good. I know it's so random. Back on track.

00:06:52 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Where are you going with this conversation?

00:06:54 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 1:

So long story short, so let me tell you this. I bought tickets yesterday, and I gave out the rest of my comp tickets that I got. The buying of the tickets, there's still some good sections available. So the top areas pretty much sold out. So the upper level, the $35 tickets, gone, okay? Those are all sold out. The bottom bowl area are still available, including some tickets that are in, like, the first, like, sections.

00:07:21 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Those are $50 tickets. Yeah. That's still a good price.

00:07:24 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 1:

Well, those ones aren't $50. Those ones are actually like.

00:07:26 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm saying there's still $50 tickets. Oh, there are $50 tickets. I just want to say that. Yeah. And by the way, when you sort by price, it might not show the cheapest price. Click on different sections and other lower tickets come up. Yes, because it'll show you best available. Yeah.

00:07:40 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 1:

Well, the other thing that I noticed, too, was if you put in singles, there were some good singles at good prices. In the single seats, there was one person in between you or two people in between you. And I know this is bad to say this because they probably don't like you to say this. But can't you ask somebody to move? Can't you just say, hey, listen, I'm here. They're here. Can you guys slide down one? You know what I mean? Or something like that. Hell, we do it on airplanes. You know? Right. So why not do that? But it's going to be fun. It's going to be really fun. I was texting with Fred from the Fred Show yesterday at 103.5 Kiss FM. They had their jingle ball. How'd it go? He said it was spectacular. He told me, like, I said to him, I go, I'm having anxiety. And he goes, what's your anxiety about? And I said, it's not about being on stage. It's not about any of the, you know, radio room interviews we're going to do and stuff. It's about as soon as I want it that way comes on. How can I get to my car?

00:08:36 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 2:

Is that the last song?

00:08:37 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 1:

I think I'm assuming. I'm assuming that they got either that or last Christmas.

00:08:41 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 2:

It's our favorite song. I know. I'm nervous because I'm carpooling with Mike and Allie. And I keep thinking I don't want to rob them Of the joy of Backstreet Boys But same thing When the last two songs hit I want to be barreling towards the car And now I've taken on luggage I've taken on extra cargo Because I don't want to ruin it If Ali's having fun I don't want to ruin it

00:09:02 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 1:

Why are they not here By the way I don't want it that way I want it in my car That's what I want I want to make sure that I get to my car as fast as I can

00:09:11 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 2:

And not to sound like poo poo No fun havers but we still have to be here at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning. I will be there to the end of that song. I know, and my ass will be in traffic crying in downtown Detroit going, oh, my God, get up in the morning. It was worth it, though. And then our boss is trying to get us to go drinking after the show tomorrow. How about that? No. Colleen. The boss, I said, you should be worried about us showing up for work tomorrow morning. She's like, just one drink. Come here.

00:09:37 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Colleen in the hallway yesterday as we were all kind of like hanging out and it's been so much fun to have EJ and the Joe show and everybody in town and so we were hanging out in the hallway and colleen's like saying to spike and mike and myself and whoever else is hanging out there she's like what do you guys got planned after the show let's all go out drinking and i'm like it's a school night colleen not even like a

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 4:

day where we could swing a Friday.

00:10:01 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, you guys didn't already say yes?

00:10:06 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 1:

Well, and also the other thing, you know, is that the station got hotel rooms for those that are out of towners. So for the Joe show and EJ, Mike and Megan, that you guys have hotel rooms and we're all thinking maybe we should crash at your hotel rooms. No, no, it's not going to happen.

00:10:27 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 4:

I love you. No, no, no, no. You know how you're not allowed to come to my house? You're also not allowed to come to my hotel. Because it's actually in a worse state than my house.

00:10:36 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 1:

That's right. You checked in last night. I forgot about that.

00:10:39 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 3:

I did. And my poor bathroom right now looks like a bomb went off because there's just crap everywhere right now.

00:10:45 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 1:

We'll have to talk about that later this morning because Megan was telling me some shady stuff that she thinks with that hotel room. So we'll get into that. It's funny. The Joe show is really upset because Joe, Jed, and Ashley, there's three of them. they have three rooms. Jed and Ashley are on a higher floor right next to each other and Joe's like on like the fourth floor and he has this, maybe it's growing up as my son, he has this FOMO where he's missing out on a better room because the better rooms he thinks are the higher floor rooms. And I'm thinking to myself, that doesn't

00:11:21 - 00:11:24 | Speaker 2:

matter. I heard him complain about that. I'm like, really? He made

00:11:24 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 1:

a comment. He made a comment that he said, you know, I don't have as great a view as Jed does. How is it that Jed has such a great view and I don't have a great view? And I said to him, I go, who goes to a hotel room and wants a view? What do you need to see? Yeah. I always look at that as like, if I'm on a lower floor, and Spike, I heard you say this to him yesterday, the fire ladder can reach us if the thing goes in place.

00:11:53 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

I told him if there's a hotel fire, the fire truck ladders only go to the fourth floor. So the guys on the sixth floor, they're out of luck

00:11:59 - 00:12:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah Reese is filling in for KP because she overslept this morning And he's the worst phone screener ever The phones are ringing and he's on his phone Now they're not ringing anymore Reese The phones have been ringing What are you doing in there? 00:13:08 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 3:

00:13:11 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 1:

So, Wedi, are you coming to Jingle Ball tonight?

00:13:13 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 3:

00:13:16 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 1:

I got to work at 5 in the morning. Yeah, wait a second.

00:13:19 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Not an excuse. This is part of your job.

00:13:21 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 1:

No, come on. This isn't part of my job. This is part of the fun

00:13:25 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 2:

We were just telling people You were cool here in the office You're not cool anymore

00:13:28 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay, if you want to give me tickets I'll come

00:13:30 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 2:

Really? No, you sound like No, you're not coming I know you You say, oh, I'll be there And then you don't come

00:13:36 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 3:

00:13:41 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 1:

If you promise you're going to use these If you don't use these I'm going to be really upset

00:13:44 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

No, because her first line wasn't I don't have tickets I want to go I just don't have tickets Her line was I ain't going to get up early

00:13:50 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 1:

I don't know She sounds like she'd be fun

00:13:52 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 2:

No, we asked you

00:13:52 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 1:

That says the guys who want to leave before Backstreet Boys are done. That's true.

00:14:00 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 2:

Take her name in. I want to look in her seats and see her seat numbers and see if she's there tonight.

00:14:05 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 1:

Hold on one second, okay? We're going to get you a pair of tickets, all right? That's it, though. Don't anybody else be schmoozing. Don't be doing that. Yesterday, we were talking about the boob press. Don't be boob pressing me to try to get something. Hi, Mojo in the morning. Reese is the worst phone screener in the world. He's still not answering the calls He's trying to figure out how the headset works Hi Hello Oh god Mojo in the morning, hello

00:14:31 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 3:

You probably answered the phone I just called and then it went to voice

00:14:36 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 1:

It went to voicemail It's probably Reese How do we have voicemail on there It's Mojo in the morning

00:14:44 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 2:

Hang up the phone

00:14:45 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 1:

That's craziness Wait a second, Reese is letting the phones ring so much that it goes to a voicemail?

00:14:53 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I said Mojo in the Morning. Somebody's going to have to have been to me.

00:14:57 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning is not here right now. Leave your message.

00:15:00 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

after the tone.

00:15:02 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 4:

The text messages, they have a good point. We should call and see if Jed also overslept. Oh, my God. That's a great one. Because then we know where

00:15:09 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 5:

KP was. I saw your son this morning.

00:15:12 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 4:

I didn't see Jed now. No, no more tickets. Nope.

00:15:15 - 00:16:00 | Speaker 2:

We have some later this morning. 7.30 and 8.30. Okay? Alright, I'll call back. Thank you, buddy. We appreciate that. Alright, take care of yourself. There are like three studios down from us, but let me just call and just see if he picks up, my son picks up the phone and see if Jed did arrive today. When I called KP, it went to voicemail and then she called me right back and goes, sorry, I just, I just woke up. So I'm wondering, and you know, now here's the pressure. Now here's the pressure. Oh, they're probably on the air doing their, uh, doing their show. So now here's the pressure for her. Day number two of being in the same building with Jed. Does she shower or do something To kind of make herself look purdy

00:16:00 - 00:16:09 | Speaker 5:

No I think she runs right in and puts a hat on Because she's going to look bombshell tonight So she like knows that in her head Like she can show him How she you know

00:16:09 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 2:

Gets all dressed up tonight I was going to say that she should buy us Starbucks But the problem Here's Joe The problem is Joe Hey, I got a live read in like 30 seconds. Real quick, did Jed show up today? Because KP didn't show up this morning. Shut up. No. Is Jed there? Hold on, I'm going to be in there in just a second. Jed, by the way, was late coming down and blamed it on Valette. Oh! All right, do your live read. I'll talk to you later. We'll talk to you later. Oh, my God. I love that he says love you at the end of every call, by the way. Oh, yeah.

00:16:51 - 00:16:52 | Speaker 5:

I really do.

00:16:52 - 00:16:55 | Speaker 2:

And then if you don't say love you back and hang up, he calls you back.

00:16:55 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 5:

I do the same, too.

00:16:56 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I was going to say KP can go to Starbucks, but we don't want her to because I get then put up with Reese on the phones.

00:17:04 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 3:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events and you tell us what year it happened.

00:17:12 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 2:

All right, this was the year that Pepsi pulled the controversial ad showing Kendall Jenner walking through a protest to hand a cop a Pepsi.

00:17:20 - 00:17:24 | Speaker 1:

But Pepsi did say they apologized for putting Jenner in this position.

00:17:24 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 2:

It was the year that the Backstreet Boys stole the show with country duo Dan and Shay at the AMS. What is it? No, the ACMS. What's that? Academy ACMS. ACMS. Oh, typo. And Macklemore had the big song on the radio. He'll be there tonight. We'll be right back. See if you know it. For Lions tickets, see the Lions take on the Vikings this weekend. Good luck.

00:17:53 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 3:

What year did these things happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. Mojo in the morning.

00:18:03 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 4:

00:18:04 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 3:

Testing your memory this early in the morning. This is Mojo's Back in the Day. Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:18:10 - 00:18:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, all happened in the same year. What year was this? We're going to do some Jingle Ball people for this, too. Pepsi had to pull a controversial ad People were all up in rage Because Kendall Jenner gave a cop a Pepsi

00:18:23 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 1:

But Pepsi did say they apologized For putting Jenner in this position

00:18:28 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 2:

It was the year that the Backstreet Boys Stole the show at the Country Music Awards And Macklemore With Skylar Gray Glorious was on the radio What year was this? We'll set you up with the prize. I'm proud of Reese. He figured this out. Good job, Reese. We got it going. I like this. Reese is our, by the way, we're going to call him the director of social impact and the executive associate producer phone screening. Hi, Erin.

00:19:04 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you?

00:19:05 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 2:

Good. What year was that?

00:19:08 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 5:

2017.

00:19:09 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 2:

There you go. Congratulations to you.

00:19:11 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 5:

Thank you.

00:19:12 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 2:

We're setting you up with tickets to go see the Lions take on Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings this weekend, Sunday at Ford Field. I really appreciate it. And you said he's doing, like, not a great job, but he answered my call. So I'm really happy. Was he a sweetheart, too? Was he nice? Yes, he was. We love him. He's good. All right, well, tell Reese that we said hello, and he'll be back in the studio hopefully sometime soon.

00:19:37 - 00:19:39 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:19:39 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 2:

We just had Joe and Jed and Ashley who are doing their Tampa show for FLZ down the hall from us. And Jed is here. Jed claims that he hasn't talked to KP since yesterday evening. KP?

00:19:59 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Hello.

00:20:00 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 4:

How close are you, KP?

00:20:02 - 00:20:04 | Speaker 5:

I'm like six minutes away.

00:20:04 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And she does live like on the other side of the moon, it seems like, there with her grandparents. So did you shower or just put on a hat?

00:20:13 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 5:

So I actually had a fake tan on, and I could not leave the house without showering. I was poor. I would smell like...

00:20:19 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's true. Yeah. Okay. All right. Fair.

00:20:21 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 5:

Yep.

00:20:22 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 4:

So that had to do with the fake tan and not because of Jed from the Joe show.

00:20:28 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 5:

Good Lord.

00:20:29 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 4:

All right.

00:20:30 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh.

00:20:31 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 4:

Just making sure. By the way, these guys, so we went to lunch yesterday, and on the way back, we drove all together, and it was very awkward with those guys in the backseat, because they didn't really even talk to each other, it seemed like. Really? It was like, you know how kind of like when you lay claim that you like somebody? Yeah. Or in grade school, you'd start dating, and then you never talk to them the rest of the year.

00:20:50 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. They're nervous. Yeah. You might pass a note. You can pass a note in the hallway.

00:20:54 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 4:

I just didn't talk to me. Oh, that's true. Jed was like, Jed, actually, you know what his analogy was? He did clam up in here. His analogy of having KP said that he was a 9.5, he said that he felt like he hit a half-court shot the first time he took a shot of a game. That's what he kind of felt like. So that was his analogy, basketball analogy. All right, you be safe, and we'll talk to you in just a little bit. We're going to let Shannon do the rest of the dirty. That was the local dirty.

00:21:19 - 00:23:01 | Speaker 3:

That was great. Dirty, though. Okay, so this is a big one. The man who shot and wounded Lady Gaga's dog walker and then stole her Frenchies, her French Bulldogs, last year, He took a plea deal. You guys, he was sentenced to 21 years in prison yesterday. 21 years! Authorities say that the Lady Gaga connection was actually just a coincidence. The motive here was the value of the French Bulldogs, which, if you didn't know, are a breed that can run into the thousands of dollars. And so detectives don't believe the thieves knew the dogs belonged to a celebrity. James Howard Jackson is one of three guys and two accomplices who participated in this robbery and its aftermath. He pleaded no contest to one count of attempted murder. So this dude and two others drove around Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley last February. They were specifically looking outside for French bulldogs. They found Lady Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fisher, with three of her Frenchies. So he shot the dog walker during the robbery. Two of the dogs were taken. The dogs, Koji and Gustav, Gustav, whatever, they were returned a few days later by a woman named Jennifer McBride, who was also charged in this crime. Remember, Gaga offered that half a million dollar reward. No questions asked to be reunited with the dogs at the time. So they thought they were sneaky, but they're not. 21 years in prison. Actress Kirstie Ellie has passed away after battling cancer. She was just 71 years old. I was so bummed when I saw this news yesterday because I used to sit and watch Tears with my dad. And so that's how I knew her. But her family wrote on social media, We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer only recently discovered. And I'll have more details in next hour's third age. She's so pretty.

00:23:01 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 4:

You know, I remember that when she was on Dancing with the Stars, a lot of people made a big deal over the fact that, you know, she had gained a lot of weight.

00:23:10 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 2:

And then she did Jenny Craig, right? Yeah. Wasn't she a rep for Jenny Craig?

00:23:13 - 00:23:36 | Speaker 4:

But she was the reason why so many celebrities who were not happy with the way that they looked and had gained weight over the years started doing Dancing with the Stars because they looked at her and what her transformation was when she was dancing with Maxim Shurmukoski. I'm impressed you remember her partner. I watched the special just a second ago on the news. Oh, okay. I'm sorry.

00:23:36 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 3:

I was like, Aunt Pat in the studio dancing with the Stars aficionado.

00:23:41 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 4:

For Pat, I didn't watch anything.

00:23:43 - 00:24:32 | Speaker 3:

All right. GMA3 host TJ Holmes had at least one other affair in addition to his relationships with his GMA co-host Amy Robach and a former GMA producer with a girl named Natasha Singh. That affair lasted three years. Multiple sources telling the New York Post yesterday that TJ had a relationship with another staffer while working at the network and married to his wife, Marilee. I don't know with whom, specifically, just that it happened. And now both T.J. and Amy have left their respective partners after their affair. They are in a relationship. I found out yesterday they were actually confronted by Robin Roberts about the rumors that they were having an affair when they were trying to be secretive about it. Yesterday, both of them were taken off the air for a day as ABC evaluates how their relationship is affecting the show and ratings.

00:24:33 - 00:24:52 | Speaker 1:

Now from Times Square, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes with Dr. Jen Ashton. and what you need to know. Good afternoon and welcome, everybody, to What You Need to Know on this Monday. Amy Roebuck and TJ Holmes have the day off. I'm Stephanie Ramos. And I'm Gio Benitez. We are so glad you are here. What a dumb move.

00:24:52 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I think it's a dumb move, too, and everybody on social media is agreeing, like, you know, what happens in people's personal lives if it's something like this.

00:25:00 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 1:

and it's not necessarily... The problem is they're owned by Disney and now with Michael Eisner back, they want to keep it squeaky clean.

00:25:08 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 4:

Here's the thing. So the network president said, and she told staff members, this is not a violation of our company policy. But she said, I've really taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization. And so for now, she told the staff, I am going to take Amy and TJ off the air while we figure this out. She said, please stop the whispering in the hallways. We need to stay focused on the work. And there are some other issues here as well Because a very good source of mine who works at ABC said TJ is a dick to producers Nobody likes working with him He yells and has the biggest ego And so he said, you know, I don't think they're off for good They'll be back Depending on who else comes out with more stories about TJ And lastly, a pet owner is being accused of animal abuse After she made her dog look like the Grinch Amy Spielman dyed her dog's hair bright green To get him into the Christmas spirit I need to clear my throat And I hate doing this live on the air

00:26:03 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 2:

But I have to Okay, there we go

00:26:06 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 4:

I thought that was the Grinch Sorry, nope Excuse me I have not had dairy, Mojo But she said she thought that the dog looked so cute Like the Grinch And so she was sharing all sorts of photos and videos online Of the puppy running and lounging around their house Well, not everybody was a fan This thing went viral and people were accusing her of abuse. Some even figured out where she lived and called local organizations to go and take the dog away from her. And her thing was, you know, there is dog fur dye. That is, that is, they have been confirmed to be dog safe. But she said, you know, people were just trolling her and people don't approve still. So she's trying to get her puppy back at this point. Oh my, that's actually crazy. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on milledroofthemorning.com.

I figured I heard the gentleman say attention shoppers and I thought, well, he didn't really have much of an enthusiasm It was a waste of talent, so I figured I'd check this out. I would sound like this. Attention shoppers, it's the lowest prices of the season on any size bed in a bag. Twin size, full size, queen size, king size, regularly starting at $157.99. Now at a price so low, if I told you, I'd have to kill you.

How does that sound? It was great up until I had to kill you.

00:28:42 - 00:28:55 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. Well, you know, sometimes you've got to hit them over the head with a little sense of humor to get their attention, right? Yes, but not that much. Right. I can start on Monday. You just tell me what time I should come in.

00:28:56 - 00:29:04 | Speaker 5:

00:41:50 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 5:

She looks for the positives and everything Yeah, well Oh, she was being a smarty? I think so, yeah.

00:41:56 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, maybe it is a generational thing, because one of my neighbors, Ty, he told me, and he's kind of my age, but he told me when he was 13, his parents actually gave him coal and nothing else. And so I thought, I'm going to bring this up on the air and ask if there's anyone listening who just never got some, like they got nothing for Christmas one year. Because you talk about emotionally scarring.

00:42:17 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:42:18 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it's one thing to fake them out and then give them their gifts and maybe make them think for five minutes. But he said he was being a real jerk to his brother and sister, and he was always misbehaving. His parents constantly reminded him that he would get coal if he was bad, but he never believed it would happen.

00:42:37 - 00:42:47 | Speaker 5:

You know what we need to do? We need to look for what is the modern-day equivalent of coal nowadays. Yeah. Like, what would be that? We'll have to figure out if there's something more different that should be used as an analogy.

00:42:47 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 3:

It would be, we gave all the spam bots your phone number for Christmas.

00:42:53 - 00:42:59 | Speaker 5:

Russell, can I grab this one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Russell, hi. Hi. How you doing, Russell?

00:43:00 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing great. Great morning. Good morning. How about everyone? Good morning.

00:43:04 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, good. Doing good. Did you get cold for Christmas?

00:43:07 - 00:43:22 | Speaker 1:

I did not, but my dad used to work for the railroad when I was a kid. And to tease us, he, in hindsight, he brought home a piece of coal for my grandfather as a gag gift

00:43:22 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Okay So that's probably floated around in some stockings over the years

00:43:26 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a good one By the way, Russell sounds like he got weed for Christmas

00:43:30 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 3:

Well, I just want to give you the end results of Ty's Christmas Because his siblings got gifts Christmas morning He got none, just a rock or coal or whatever it was And then he thought, well, surely they're just holding back. They never gave him anything. No. Never. That whole Christmas, he got no gifts.

00:43:48 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 6:

How could you do that as a parent? Even if you were trying to teach a really huge lesson, that is just, that's bad.

00:43:54 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 5:

Dawn?

00:43:56 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:43:56 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Cole for Christmas. Did you get it?

00:43:59 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 2:

No, but when my youngest daughter was like nine, maybe eight, she was starting to question whether there was real Santa. I think she probably knew. But anyway, she asked for a lump of coal. That's all she asked for for Christmas.

00:44:14 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:44:15 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 2:

Tried to test stuff, I guess. And so...

00:44:19 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 5:

Santa brought her a lump of coal? Yeah.

00:44:22 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, it was... I actually... I was just going to wrap up some charcoal. Yeah. And my husband's like, no, this has got to be... This has got to be, you know, legitimate.

00:44:32 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:44:32 - 00:44:42 | Speaker 2:

So my father-in-law found... It looked like a lump of coal, and it was in a little red bag. And it said, ho, ho, ho, someone was naughty.

00:44:42 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I like that. Ho, ho, ho, you get your cull.

00:44:45 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 3:

Imagine these days you can just get everything on Amazon, even the bad stuff.

00:44:48 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 5:

We should do doggy doo-doo, like those little doggy bags. What's up, Sam?

00:44:54 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey.

00:44:54 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 5:

How you doing?

00:44:55 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

So I got a good. I got a bucket of cull.

00:45:00 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 3:

It was actually black licorice. Oh, I've seen that. I've seen they sell that.

00:45:05 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 4:

That would be worse. Yeah, yeah.

00:45:08 - 00:45:12 | Speaker 1:

I love black licorice. I love black licorice. You're the only one. What's up, Dee?

00:45:13 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. Can you hear me okay?

00:45:15 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got you.

00:45:17 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 2:

Awesome. Super excited. I will be at the concert tonight. We'll see you later. Dee, I called with Madison. They had the hilarious line for the Backstreet Boys. I called last week.

00:45:30 - 00:45:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:45:30 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 2:

But my great-nephew, these kids are hilarious, I picked him up from school yesterday. He's about six. He said that his classmate touched the elf on the shelf and told him that she didn't believe. His response to her was, well, I guess we know what you're getting from Santa, a whole bunch of colds.

00:45:49 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. And Santa better follow through on that just to make sure, right?

00:45:54 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Man, the poor kid's going to be sweating for a month.

00:45:57 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Thank you for the call.

00:45:59 - 00:46:00 | Speaker 4:

See you later.

00:46:01 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 1:

I appreciate it. It's going to be fun. Nicole says that her son is getting coal this year. You're going to actually follow through on that?

00:46:10 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 3:

I am, yes. He had suspended, been suspended about five times this year from school. Oh, boy. And he thinks I'm joking about it. I have a few things put away, but on Christmas morning, he will be seeing coal. I love it. And then maybe the next day, he'll get a couple things. Wow, you're going to wait all the way to the next day.

00:46:29 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 4:

Unbelievable. Well, the problem is if you don't follow through on those threats and the kids know, there's no consequences. Wow. But it is a big threat to throw out there to cancel Christmas.

00:46:40 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 1:

You are, by the way, the mom. You're the mom that turns the car around when you say, I'm going to turn the car around if you guys don't stop that.

00:46:47 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, I pulled the car over. We've sat on the side of the road for us.

00:46:50 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 1:

Did you really? Oh, my gosh. Well, have a Merry Christmas. Take care of yourself. You too. All right, Mojo on the morning show. We do have last-minute jingle ball tickets that we're going to be giving away, and we will have those for you coming up in less than 15 minutes. So don't go anywhere. Less than 15 minutes. And we'll have a couple paired today at 730, 830 plus our Mojo in the morning missile dough brought to you by the IDLU Health Center where you're going to have a chance to win $10,000 this holiday season. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. So we did a little shopping for our Wish families. We all have been doing this where we all go out and we will buy the gifts that we give to the families that we've, you know, been granting wishes for. And I was out with Chelsea the other day, and I got to tell you guys the funniest story. And here's what I want to do, because I think that this could lend itself to some funny phone calls. I want you to call up and tell us the customer service at its finest story. And what I mean by that, because it's obviously, you know, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, poke, poke. It's, I can't believe the person that worked at the store did this, okay? And here's what I'm going to ask you to do. Don't say the name of the store, because if you say the name of the store, it could get us, like, in trouble. And then when we go into those stores after that, we never get helped. That's happened to me before. All right, so this is the one. So at a huge national box store that we went to, and you'll know which one I'm talking about when I tell you this, chelsea and i walked in to go shopping for one of our families and when we walked into the store this place was a mess i'm gonna tell you this walking in i mean there was stuff all over the place like even from the moment that you walked in it just looked like it hadn't been picked up

00:48:37 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 3:

i already have a guess on the store i'm not gonna say it i think i know i walked in to the main

00:48:41 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

entrance and where there normally are a bunch of carts there was none it was actually empty completely empty so i walked up to one of the store associates and i said hey do you guys keep the cart somewhere else and he says to me and this is no spit okay on this one he told me they're all in the parking lot and if you go back out there can you bring some up to us i swear the guy the guy legit and he i think he was one of the managers because he was one of the guys that was kind of like you know wearing like a different colored vest than everybody else was wearing that might give it away too then this experience happened we were buying winter coats for this family and it was very difficult to buy the mom a winter coat because it was it was kind of a struggle to find something that looked nice like we want to make sure we got her something nice and we ended up having to leave the store and go somewhere else because they didn't have it and I was looking for a specific size so I walked up to another associate completely different a woman and I said to her hi I'm looking for this size do you guys know if you have any of them around here or in the back rooms and she goes your guess is as good as mine and then kept walking no joke this happened at the same exact store so then I look at Chelsea and I

00:50:00 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 2:

we're going to Target. I'll give them the plug for that one. But I wanted to know from you guys, if you have ever had a customer service situation where you're like, how do these people stay in business? How is this person still keeping their job? Because I was blown away. And I know nowadays it's like difficult just to find people. So it's kind of like the person that's working kind of like you know definitely has a little bit more of a leeway they're they're definitely not going to get canned for asking me to go out in the parking lot and go grab their carts um but uh but it was pretty crazy have you ever experienced that anywhere like gone to a restaurant and had a

00:50:39 - 00:51:27 | Speaker 3:

waitress that you're just like holy crap or yeah i well i went to a coffee shop i will not say the name you could take a guess um and this was a while ago but i had ordered something and it what i had ordered like a latte like something with milk in it and um i got it and it very clearly was the wrong thing and i you hate to ask for you know oh this is you know really not what i order this is what i ordered and the girl handed me literally a gallon of milk over the over the counter and just said here you go and i'm like oh okay yeah it's like it's not the same can you just add milk in and make it well okay that's fine i did and then handed it back to her oh really you actually gave it back you should have kept it well i'm what else was i supposed

00:51:27 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 2:

to do yeah you should have you should have uh given her uh you know given her oh thank you very much i didn't know you guys were actually uh gonna do this for me my favorite is you ever go into a uh a store like in you know the mall at the end of the night on a on a friday saturday night during the holiday shopping time and have you ever seen how crazy it is those poor people that work there have to pick up everything and refold everything that was me i worked in retail

00:51:52 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 1:

forever and ever some places have the rule where they're not allowed to start closing until after the last customer leaves at 902 or whatever right others will put the gate halfway down turn the

00:52:01 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 2:

lights off like all that stuff i had a lady um i felt so bad for her she was trying to like refold a whole bunch of polo shirts and she's going and doing it so she says hey can you hand me a few of those like she's like asking me to hand her and yeah and i started like all right

00:52:18 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 4:

i'll help you fold the stuff what's up jake how you doing hey good hi uh cashing i was cashing out at a box store and uh my cashier was helping me and the cashier next to us says hey i got her I'm FaceTimed. I catch you then leave, and they start FaceTiming with someone somewhere else while I'm just sitting there waiting.

00:52:40 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 2:

They're having a little fun conversation with each other. I love that when you go, and the person's talking, and you think that they're talking to you, and you realize that they're on their headset talking to somebody, a friend. What's up, John?

00:52:52 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

00:52:53 - 00:52:55 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? Customer service at its finest.

00:52:57 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 6:

We'll say location. Went to a store, and I was looking for some pop-up baskets for my kids' room. laundry. I go to the worker at the register. Hey, where do you guys take your pop-up baskets? They're like, oh, he's like, hold on one second. He's sitting there doing a text, and I waited for three minutes, and I busted out laughing. I said, hey, Don Juan, finish up your text. I go find the baskets myself.

00:53:15 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 2:

Right. Do you know if he was like, if he got the girl or whoever he was he was trying

00:53:20 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 6:

to flirt with? Oh, no. This guy was old enough. I think he was banned from like four schoolyards and one church.

00:53:28 - 00:53:34 | Speaker 2:

That's funny. Hey, Mojo in the morning, hi. Hi. Customer service at its finest.

00:53:36 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I wanted to talk about that because I used to work at a Walmart.

00:53:40 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy. No names, no names, but go ahead. What happened at Walmart? I won't.

00:53:44 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 5:

I won't. I won't.

00:53:45 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Go ahead. Go ahead. What happened?

00:53:50 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 5:

Well, nothing happened, but I can understand where they were coming from about the jacket and the bag thing.

00:53:58 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:53:58 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 5:

When somebody asks that, you have to go through, like, there is no jacket in the back. There's nothing in the back.

00:54:06 - 00:54:07 | Speaker 2:

Everything's out in the front, right?

00:54:08 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 5:

Yes, there is absolutely nothing in the back. And if there is, then you have to do, like, a bunch of paperwork. But I have worked at Walmart, and there have been a lot of things I've seen there that I wish I hadn't.

00:54:18 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I will tell you this, that I get it, and they looked like they were definitely understaffed. And they were struggling because of that. But the cart thing caught me off guard because I almost turned around and went back to the lot to go get the carts. Like, I'm like, oh, I think he really does need help. He's trying to see what I can do for him. What's going on? I lost that one. That one, by the way, that's an interesting one. A person who worked at a smoothie shop who said the person behind the counter was so busy, asked them to come back behind and make the smoothie themselves.

00:54:54 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I would, too. When you want a smoothie, you want a smoothie. I've never used a Vitamix before. Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:56:32 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 4:

Shannon's going to do the dirty right now. What's going on, Shannon?

00:56:35 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, we are remembering actress Kirstie Alley this morning. She has passed away after battling cancer, just 71 years old. I saw that news come through yesterday. Man, it was really sad. Her family updating fans on her social media writing, We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer only recently discovered. She was surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead. She was an Emmy Award winner, a Golden Globe Award winner for her breakout role as Rebecca on Cheers.

00:57:13 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 5:

You have a really weird face. Your eyebrows are growing together Like a big old ugly catapult

00:57:24 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 2:

Don Travolta Captioned a throwback photo With Kirstie from their Look who's talking days with this He wrote Kirstie was one of the most special relationships I've ever had I love you I know we will see each other again And her Cheers co-star Ted Danson said I am so sad and so grateful For all of the times she made me laugh I will miss her Now listen to this He heard the news of her death After getting off of a flight On which he watched an episode of Cheers Just randomly How crazy is that?

00:57:54 - 00:57:57 | Speaker 4:

John Travolta did? No, Ted Danson Oh, Ted Danson Oh, wow

00:57:57 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, was watching an old episode of Cheers Gets off the flight And then finds out that she had passed away And he was like Wow He had chills Yeah

00:58:04 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, she was a beautiful woman And I wonder how I know she was a big Scientologist, wasn't she? Yes And I know that Remember John Travolta's wife Kelly Preston she had cancer and ended up dying and a lot of people have rumored that Scientologists don't get the treatments when they do get certain diseases or certain illnesses and I wonder if that was the case because I did not know she had cancer like there was never a talk of Christy Alley having cancer

00:58:35 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 2:

and they said it was just discovered

00:58:37 - 00:58:40 | Speaker 4:

and I know they don't believe

00:58:40 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 1:

in psychological help or medication I'm wondering if it's the same for cancer as well.

00:58:45 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 4:

Well, I know Kelly Preston. A lot of people thought that she didn't get the treatments that she should have gotten. And she battled that illness for a shorter time than a lot of people who have had that particular cancer.

00:58:57 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 2:

Brittany Spears, once again, deleted her Instagram account yesterday. I just checked. Still gone. I think this is the sixth time she's done this. It's the third time in the past four months that she's deleted it. Fans are getting worried. Why does she keep doing this? An insider saying, telling the New York Post, actually, that she is just taking a break, as she has in the past. She just is enjoying her freedom, and sometimes she needs to take a deep breath and step back from all of the social media.

00:59:24 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 4:

Can't she just, like, not go on it instead of, like, canceling and making the big to-do?

00:59:28 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 5:

How does she keep doing that, too? And I can't even log into the channel Instagram one time. Right. That's right. Right.

00:59:34 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 2:

01:02:40 - 01:02:42 | Speaker 2:

We were just talking off the air.

01:02:44 - 01:03:06 | Speaker 4:

Got my period. Like with a vengeance It was like God said I know that you are wearing A lighter colored short dress So I'm going to give you the worst period you've had in two years Which I'm terrified because I usually start Like five days before you And I haven't started yet Because what you were supposed to get I got on top of mine

01:03:06 - 01:03:12 | Speaker 3:

I was like Shannon was so excited last night What happened when she came in today She wasn't as excited

01:03:12 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 4:

But now I'm panicked because truly my dress is a lighter color And so I'm going to wear a fanny pack And if you say hi to me tonight It's going to have super tampons in it If you need one, hit me up I brought my fanny pack, you can use it Let's fill it up Why? This is the worst timing ever

01:03:31 - 01:03:36 | Speaker 2:

When it happens Obviously this was not expected at this time Right?

01:03:38 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 4:

She's a little early

01:03:39 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 2:

A couple days early

01:03:42 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

01:03:43 - 01:04:01 | Speaker 2:

So it's usually closer to mid-month when it happens. I think this is a good one because our listeners can relate to this. What's the worst time to have it come? What's the worst time to have Anne Flo arrive? 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548

01:04:01 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, if I was wearing a black dress black pants, whatever I wouldn't care as much but I don't feel great. It's the worry on, like Megan, you are going to have to be on booty duty to make sure that I don't have any, you know, issues. If you see Shannon walking two steps in front of me, you know why it's going to be.

01:04:20 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but how do you do that on stage when we're in the

01:04:23 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 4:

spotlight? We do it before we get on stage and we'll check each other. I actually might bring a backup because that's how fun this is.

01:04:31 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 3:

A backup dress? Yep, a backup outfit.

01:04:33 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I will.

01:04:34 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

You guys, I always bring a backup outfit. Do you really? Yeah, right before I went on stage and this is like 20 years ago right before i went on stage i spilled a drink all down the front of me and i had to go on stage three more times so now i always bring an extra shirt or an extra hoodie or something just in case see i beyonce i you know no beyonce has stylus i'm the idiot in the back closet of

01:05:00 - 01:05:03 | Speaker 6:

changing next to the Zamboni because I spilled a beer.

01:05:03 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 5:

I just tell everybody what I did. I just go up there. Like, honestly, Shannon, that would be the greatest thing ever. Go up there and just go, guess what time of month it is.

01:05:11 - 01:05:14 | Speaker 8:

I'm not going to turn around because you don't want to see what's there.

01:05:15 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 5:

So last night I was getting ready to go to bed. We all went out for lunch, and I didn't feel good afterwards. My stomach was hurting me afterwards. And then last night I went to bed, and I just felt like crap. And I was thinking to myself, and this is definitely not the equivalent of you with your short dress, but I was thinking to myself, I'm like, oh, my God, how am I going to do this if I feel like I did last night? I feel a little bit better right now. But all I kept thinking to myself was it's going to be 3 o'clock, 3 o'clock this afternoon until the very, very end of the concert. So the concert, the last, I think Backstreet Boys go up at like 1130-ish or something like that?

01:05:51 - 01:05:54 | Speaker 6:

No, they're up at 1045. They're done at 1150.

01:05:54 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 5:

Is that what it is? Okay, so I won't be home until 1230 earliest because I'm 45 minutes at least from downtown. I know. Doesn't that give you? So, all right. Everybody. Are you guys excited?

01:06:11 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:06:11 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 5:

Rock your body. Except for Shannon. I'm excited.

01:06:15 - 01:06:18 | Speaker 6:

I'm excited other than Shannon's worried about her.

01:06:18 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 5:

Everybody. Thank you.

01:06:20 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 8:

That is a genuine friend.

01:06:21 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 6:

Well, I figured let's bring you, like, a Christmassy blanket, and then if you have to, last second, wrap it around you, and we'll just, like, snuggle, like, make it look like you're just...

01:06:30 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 8:

You can carry me on stage like baby Jesus.

01:06:31 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, swaddle you.

01:06:33 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, swaddle me.

01:06:34 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning show, what's happening, Mackenzie?

01:06:38 - 01:06:40 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, I love you guys.

01:06:40 - 01:06:42 | Speaker 5:

We love you, too. Hold on, let me get Vonda up.

01:06:42 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 1:

We love you, too.

01:06:44 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 5:

What's the worst time to get it?

01:06:46 - 01:06:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, the worst time to get it is vacation time. Oh, yeah. I literally, every single time I go on vacation, I swear she's there, and it drives me bonkers.

01:06:59 - 01:07:03 | Speaker 8:

Especially if you have to wear a bathing suit. Yeah. Because that is just no fun.

01:07:04 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. How does it know? How does it know you planned a vacation six months from now? But it does.

01:07:10 - 01:07:11 | Speaker 5:

What's happening, Candice?

01:07:13 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. Love you guys. But most of the time for me is going to my sister-in-law's house because it's immaculate. And her bathroom is right there in the middle of everything. There's literally nothing ever inside her wastebasket in the bathroom.

01:07:30 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 5:

Oh, geez. Doesn't that suck when you go over and your sister-in-law's, like some of my friends, they have like the cleanest homes ever. And the last thing in the world you want to do is leave the one thing in that basket, right? And then you don't want to bring it out to the kitchen To throw it in the kitchen garbage

01:07:45 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 4:

No That's funny Hopefully she just has somebody else clean her house And she never even realizes

01:07:52 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 5:

This I think is the worst though Sharon what's the worst day other than Jingle Ball Night To get your period

01:07:58 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 3:

Good morning guys Sharon I think I topped you My daughter just got married in October And guess what she got that morning

01:08:06 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 8:

That happened to a friend of mine and it was not supposed to happen. You are right. That is the ultimate worst.

01:08:15 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 3:

That's the ultimate. I mean, it wasn't supposed to happen, and it did. But you know what? She had a great wedding anyways, but dang it.

01:08:22 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call.

01:08:24 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 2:

I Googled how to stop your period. A couple of obvious ones. Get pregnant.

01:08:28 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 8:

That can't happen.

01:08:30 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

Start birth control. But another one was if you drink enough liquor, it'll stop your period.

01:08:35 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 8:

Tony, our boss, told us we are not supposed to be drinking tonight. He made it really, really. So no alcohol.

01:08:42 - 01:08:46 | Speaker 6:

But he looked right at me when he said that, and I was a little offended.

01:08:46 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 5:

I'll be honest with you. I think he looked at a lot of people. Because I saw him looking at our afternoon show, Joe and Jed and Ashley. Especially, where's Ashley?

01:08:56 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 6:

Ashley's down with the brown. Ashley, he didn't say anything about smoking up, though.

01:09:01 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 7:

He did not, but I'm the one that told Meg, you have to drink lots of liquor, and it will delay your period. I Googled it. She's right. I do it all the time. She's right. It won't be as heavy.

01:09:10 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 5:

Ashley, has this been like a drink fest for you coming home? Oh, yeah. I saw a very touching video of you going to see Grandma yesterday in West Bloomfield. I was lit, too. You were lit when I saw her. She was boozing at lunch. It was like 10 a.m. or something like that. My girl. I didn't even know that a Coney Island served booze. Like, I didn't even realize that that was the case.

01:09:29 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 7:

Jed got a beer, so I was like, you got tequila back there? She said, absolutely. I said, throw some pineapple in there. We got a party.

01:09:34 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 5:

You know what it is for these guys coming from Tampa up here to do the afternoon show live and then their morning show live? It's like us when we go away to go to Vegas.

01:09:46 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 6:

We're doing our show on other ground. There's no rules. We're in another country.

01:09:52 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Actually, it's wild because you guys are staying just moments away from three casinos. And you guys have already been to all.

01:10:00 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 3:

three casinos the funniest part is when you guys lived here and worked at this radio station you never went to the casinos isn't that funny you guys are like ultimate tourists aren't you mojo in the morning uh julie we were just talking about the worst time to get your period worse than

01:10:15 - 01:10:35 | Speaker 5:

at your wedding was what so i went briefly got married and was on my honeymoon and knew that i potentially maybe going to come, so I came prepared. However, I lost my luggage, and I had to use European products for that time of the

01:10:35 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 3:

month. Uh-oh. What's the difference between the European ones?

01:10:39 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 5:

So, a lot of them, I could only find the cardboard tampon for the girls that know that, and then just, like, their, like, other products are just, like, made so differently, probably more, I don't know, more organic or whatever they do over there.

01:10:54 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 2:

Plus, they're in metric, so.

01:10:57 - 01:11:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that was, so I'd rather have it on my wedding day than on your honeymoon, but no luggage.

01:11:04 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, wow. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show, another pair of tickets to our Jingle Ball tonight, coming up at 8.30 right now.

01:11:13 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 1:

It's time for an official government survey, and when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s**t. It's Mojo in the Morning's Sinsless Survey.

01:11:24 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hello, how are you? What are you? Is your mom and your daddy home?

01:11:31 - 01:11:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, my daddy's home.

01:11:34 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 2:

All right, let me talk to him.

01:11:36 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 6:

My daddy?

01:11:37 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:11:38 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 6:

Okay, wait for a minute.

01:11:40 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I will. Cutie pie.

01:11:44 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 6:

Show your daddy's here. Show your daddy's here.

01:11:48 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 2:

How do you feel about Eminem's plan to change his name to Skittles?

01:11:52 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 6:

Wait for a minute. Okay.

01:11:54 - 01:12:03 | Speaker 2:

Hello there, how are you? Yeah. Mr. Dabalina, I'm calling from the United States Census Bureau. Just wondering how many people live in your household?

01:12:03 - 01:12:04 | Unknown:

Six.

01:12:04 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Six, okay. And do you have any junk in your trunk?

01:12:08 - 01:12:09 | Speaker 6:

No, not really.

01:12:09 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Can you tell me how to get to your house from here? Why is that? Oh, we'll come back to that question then. Would you buy a video game called C-section?

01:12:20 - 01:12:21 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:12:21 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 2:

No? No, right. And do you know the Muffin Man?

01:12:24 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 5:

I don't know that.

01:12:25 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 2:

How much do you hate people who hate things?

01:12:28 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 5:

Sorry, I mean, I don't have time to answer all the questions.

01:12:31 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 2:

Would you like to try and bounce a quarter off my ass? Can you put the little kid back on, please?

01:12:38 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 1:

I like the little kid better, right? Laugh all you want. We'll get to you eventually. It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:51 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. everyone's invited, but Megan. And wait till you hear who's the person that's having the party. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Has that ever happened to you where everyone was going to a party, but you were the only one not invited? You'll have to call up and share it with us. Who is it?

01:13:10 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 7:

Well, before I tell you who it is, I want to give you the lay down of what happened. This person invited me over, but sent me instructions to their place to make sure that they made sense and that they worked. So I followed the instructions, and I go. And then this person had me taste test the food that they were going to make for this party. Great. Set up their entertainment system for the entertainment. Awesome. Had me go grocery shopping so I could get all of their items that they need. Cool. Went to a liquor store, because that's what we call them, not party stores, liquor stores, and got all of the alcohol for the party. Check. And then when the party rolls around, I did not get an invite. I was just the tester for my own father's party. Oh, no. He threw a party, invited everybody he knew but me, and had me just do all of the work without reaping any of the benefits. Oh, that's cruel, man. I'm salty. Then called me day of the party because the entertainment system wasn't working, and he's using all of my accounts for everything. He's trying to figure out how to set up his Alexa playing music and his fire TV having a fireplace running and all this. So, day of, I'm still doing everything for him for a party I'm not allowed to go to.

01:14:23 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 3:

Maybe it was an adult-only party.

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 7:

It was? Yeah, okay.

01:14:27 - 01:14:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, maybe it was that he was going to have, maybe that lady friend of his is going to be over.

01:14:34 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 7:

Maybe. Maybe. Wait, have you decided, is there a lady friend? I think he's trying to get a lady friend.

01:14:40 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 3:

Who did he invite over that was not you?

01:14:42 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 7:

Do you want to know how this is like twist the knife in my back?

01:14:46 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:14:46 - 01:14:49 | Speaker 7:

It was all family members except for me.

01:14:49 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 3:

Wait, your brother wasn't invited, though, was he?

01:14:51 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 7:

No, it was my brother and I were not invited. Literally, the rest of the family was. Oh, so he didn't want to be embarrassed. Essentially. I was so mad.

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 2:

So mad.

01:15:01 - 01:15:02 | Speaker 1:

So mad.

01:15:02 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 3:

It's funny when family or friends will do that where they'll have a party. And we've had it before where we've had people over to our house and then told everybody, do not post anything on social. Like we've done that before. We actually, my kids were joking because we had my sister come for Thanksgiving like, I don't know, five or six years ago. And we told the kids and my sister's kids, don't post on social because we didn't want everybody else that was not there to know about it. But we didn't want it to be the whole family. We just wanted it to be the kids. My kids and my sister Tracy's kids are, like, really close. But it's weird because you feel so dirty. Scott Mick, you feel dirty, don't you? You feel dirty having that party knowing, although he doesn't care. No, he doesn't care. He's loving it.

01:15:48 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 2:

He loved not having me there. Rubbing it in your face. I don't know if you know this, but he tells me constantly, I am a burden. And, yep, that's period, point blank.

01:15:58 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That's the sentence. Megan, with the streaming services, you should have changed your password the night of.

01:16:05 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh, that's really funny. You should have done it.

01:16:08 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 3:

The iHeartRadio app's not working for him.

01:16:10 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 2:

I love my father. He's very, very dumb when it comes to technology. Best man in the world, best dad in the world. Called me in the middle of this party. It was a swing-in going, how do I get the fireplace to restart on the television? I don't understand where I went. Where do I click? And there's people all around. I go, hi, Maggie, wish you were here. Well, wasn't invited.

01:16:33 - 01:16:39 | Speaker 3:

It's funny that you guys have family. You guys in your family, do you share your Apple account with each other at all?

01:16:39 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 5:

I share with my dad.

01:16:40 - 01:17:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so we share our photos with everybody. And my son Jacob is in Chicago at school. And there was one weekend where Jacob said that he was studying all weekend. Like he's like, I'm studying all weekend. You know, man, it's crazy, whatever. And I went on to the photo portion of our shared family thing. And he mistakenly put some of the photos from his study weekend up there. There wasn't any studying going on. There was a lot of people that were hanging out at his apartment and it wasn't us. So he just didn't want us to come in. So you use those excuses and end up getting busted by it. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Actually, to go along with that, here's a story to segue into, because you weren't here yesterday, Megan. I was not. Mike was here, and Mike will be here later tonight, and then tomorrow, you know, we'll all be here. So yesterday, Mike, you got to tell everybody the EJ story. For those that don't know, EJ, of course, has done shifts on all three of our stations, SNX, KISS, and Channel. He's currently the night guy on Channel. Is he on any of your stations still?

01:17:49 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 2:

Yes, he's on KISS.

01:17:50 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 3:

And he does the vibe on Sunday nights and stuff like that? So tell everybody the EJ story for what happened in the afternoon yesterday.

01:18:00 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 4:

So I never get to hang out with this dude. So I'm like, you know what? He's around. I want to make sure that him and I can hang out. We always talk about it, and we never do. So I'm like, hey, man, do you want to go get some lunch? And he was in the studio, I think, with you, Mojo. And he's like, no, man, I'm just beat right now. I'm so tired right now. And I'm like, you know what? He works a different shift. to you know he's he's on la time too right yeah yeah he's doing a million different things i totally understand like cool man cool and then um i find out that everybody get invited to the the other lunch which is you know tony and everybody else that's going to lunch i'm like oh cool you know i want to just you know hang out and get lunch anyways that works out perfect and then guess who i see at this lunch ej I went, dude, just tell me you don't want to hang out.

01:18:49 - 01:18:52 | Speaker 1:

To be fair, I had to convince him to come to that.

01:18:53 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so he wasn't necessarily, thanks, that's a good one, KP. Yeah, right, right.

01:18:58 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 4:

This isn't the first time the man has ditched me.

01:19:02 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I looked in the other room. I'm going to say this for the listeners, and I didn't want to say this because the boss is listening. KP was late today. She overslept today. Okay? I look in the other room. Yeah, I don't look like that when I come in late. Holy mother of God.

01:19:16 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 2:

I saw her. I was like, oh, how dare you? Yeah, no.

01:19:19 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 3:

You can tell that there must be something with this whole Jed thing that you wanted to look pretty. You legit got ready before you came in. You look like a freaking Gigi Hadid.

01:19:27 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 1:

This is the reason why I was late. I could not sleep because I kept waking up going, oh, shoot, I need to pack that. I need to pack this. And I got everything done, like my hair, my nails, everything the night before. That's why I overslept.

01:19:38 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 2:

Miss Ma'am, you are in a leather jacket this morning.

01:19:40 - 01:19:48 | Speaker 3:

Wait until you see me when I sleep too late. For Christ's sake, whenever, like, Spike, you know the feeling, right? Yeah, but you slept in your extensions.

01:19:48 - 01:19:50 | Speaker 5:

I'm getting my extensions put in after the show today.

01:19:50 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 3:

But women can look so good, like, just putting a baseball hat on or whatever.

01:19:55 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because you even said that, Mojo. You said, you know what's funny? She'll just throw a baseball cap on. She'll look better late than we do.

01:20:00 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 3:

We look after trying for two hours. Guys, it's closed. I literally just put a leather jacket on.

01:20:04 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 2:

No, you look like you're ready for a night out. Yeah, I'm sorry. The hair looks like it's been done and everything. You got the spray tan going.

01:20:11 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 4:

I don't think she has a lick of makeup on it. I don't see a single pore. I hate her.

01:20:15 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 1:

I hate her so much.

01:20:18 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 3:

But you look all nice, too. Like, did you get up at three to curl your hair?

01:20:21 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 4:

I got up at four. And this bee overslept and looks ten times better than me. We have to fire her. I can't.

01:20:29 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 3:

Look at you doing your morning show in the dress and nails and everything's looking. All right, what about me?

01:20:34 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 4:

I woke my ass every day.

01:20:35 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you're getting ready after the show?

01:20:38 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 2:

In your defense, Shannon, it is that time of the month. Girl.

01:20:43 - 01:20:43 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:20:44 - 01:20:44 | Speaker 2:

Everything will be okay.

01:20:44 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Are you kidding? Everything will be okay. Thank you, my friend. Shannon, everything will be okay.

01:20:48 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 3:

Are you loading in the bands later? You really dressed like a lumberjack this morning.

01:20:53 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 4:

You look hot as in temperature. That looks like a warm sweater.

01:20:59 - 01:21:04 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. I'm going to call EJ because of. Oh, then he gaslit me.

01:21:04 - 01:21:10 | Speaker 3:

Wait until he gaslights me here. Oh, this is great, Mike. You have him in your crosshairs. There's no excuse for this.

01:21:10 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So we're going to, by the way, EJ is like the hardest working man. He did come back and did a show live, and then he's on in L.A. and did that live, too.

01:21:21 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 3:

So I call him out, you know, after he says, you know, no, I'm not going to lunch. And then I find out that he's going to this lunch. And I'm like why didn't you just tell me you didn't want to go And he's like what are you talking about And I was like I just asked you if you wanted to go to lunch and you said no And Bushman was sitting right there And so I have witnesses And so I'm like why did you just say no man I was like you're not going to hurt my feelings I know you're busy and I know I'm not the bosses So you're not going to force yourself To go to a lunch

01:21:47 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 2:

It's embarrassing though when that does happen to you Where you're like no man I'm not And then somebody else convinces you and you're like oh crap

01:21:54 - 01:22:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah and so he's like no I didn't even do that And I'm like what are you talking about yes you did He's like, no, I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm like, I just asked him. He is smart. No, he denied it. I know.

01:22:04 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

He's playing the whole you're nutty type thing. Yeah, he's totally gaslighting you. What's up, Anne-Marie?

01:22:11 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. I just wanted to come in and tell you I'm so excited. I'm going to be there tonight at the concert. Yeah, right. I tried every day to win tickets from you, and twice I was caller 94. I finally went through work last week. I'm so excited, my friend and I. And I only just heard that we're going to be there late, so I gave her the heads up.

01:22:31 - 01:22:33 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how did your work give away tickets?

01:22:34 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 1:

We just had tickets that they give away sometimes when there's extra tickets to a suite. Oh, that's so cool.

01:22:40 - 01:22:49 | Speaker 2:

That's cool. Oh, wait a second. Hold on. You're in a suite? Hello. What suite number? We'll come home and hang out with you. Food in the suite. Anne-Marie.

01:22:49 - 01:22:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited.

01:22:52 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 2:

Text me what suite number you're in. I'll stop by. You're like Megan's dad. You're telling us you're in a suite. Now you're not going to invite us.

01:22:58 - 01:23:12 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning real quick.

01:23:12 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 2:

I got to do this. Spike's taking his duty break. It's a little early because I played a song. Yeah, he's very about an hour. Yes.

01:23:22 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 4:

Five minutes to an hour.

01:23:23 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:23:23 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 4:

Make a duty.

01:23:25 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 2:

So real quick. I want to do this before he walks back in. Reese, we just look out there and just make sure that if you see him walking, tell me. So he's been on this thing and he's been trying to get me to get all of you guys to like wear an ugly Christmas sweater on stage. And I don't know if it's just that he wants to do it for like one of the times that we're on stage or all the times. But he's like obsessed with like ugly Christmas sweaters. And I've never known anybody that probably has more, just like he has like a million T-shirts.

01:23:51 - 01:23:52 | Speaker 4:

He won't shut up about it.

01:23:52 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So I was thinking that we all just tell him that we're all going to do the whole, we'll bring an ugly Christmas sweater, we'll all wear it up on stage, and then none of us do it except for him. Oh, my God. Okay, tonight?

01:24:07 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but nobody else can tell him either.

01:24:09 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, none of the listeners do not go on his social. If you blow this for us, I swear to Jesus, I will, I don't know what I'll do to you. We'll unfollow you and block you from our social. We won't allow you to do this. but so the idea is every one of you guys and it doesn't have to be right now because I don't want it to be too obvious just throughout the rest of the day in the morning and stuff just ask them okay so what color is your ugly Christmas sweater alright so off the air and on the air you can do that alright Mojo in the morning show coming up here in just a little bit wait a second that's the puke bucket we'll have that for you also in just a matter of moments I triple dog dare you Shannon talking about that and Megan Is staying in what she Thinks is a swingers hotel Because she stayed in town last night

01:25:00 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 5:

talk about that plus breakup or makeup six on sex all coming up here in just a little bit on the mojo in the morning show spike back here this morning let's go ahead did you do your early

01:25:09 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 4:

duty oh my god did i miss was i supposed to do a topic here no no i just said you're playing a

01:25:14 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 5:

song and i thought i had no it was a quick song but i know i just did the show intro we're gonna get into uh topics here right now all right mojo in the morning show so last night i started not feeling great i had something for lunch that just didn't agree with me and my stomach was really really bothering me so i wanted to like go to bed early and i told chelsea because joe and jed came over to the house and hung out and we watched uh a little bit of the monday night football game you know those guys are on in tampa so we watched it was tampa versus uh the saints which had a crazy ending didn't i brady again with the comeback but also brady angry on the sidelines We'll talk about that coming up.

01:25:51 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 6:

I'll get you in the dirty.

01:25:52 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 5:

So Chelsea said, what is it that's bothering you? I said, I don't know, Chelsea. I feel like I, like you ever have it where you feel like you have to, you know, vomit, but you can't?

01:26:03 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:26:04 - 01:26:55 | Speaker 5:

And you know that if you do, it will make you feel better. Like it will suck at that moment, but it will make you feel better. So I told her, I said, I think I have to. So she goes, okay. She goes, just go lie down in bed and I'll bring some stuff to you. So she comes to the room with what is our vomit bucket, which is the same pan that she cooks the chicken tortilla soup that we all love. Oh, is it really? Yes. No. What is wrong with you? And it got me laughing because I said to her, I go, now I'm going to really vomit. Has anybody ever used this thing recently? And she says, no, nobody's ever used it But I always put it next to the bowl Or the bed Because it's big enough That if you roll over You can actually get in there And it won't splatter all over the place Because it's deep And it's, you know One of those I know

01:26:55 - 01:26:56 | Speaker 2:

That word

01:26:56 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 5:

I apologize

01:26:57 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 2:

Can't stand families Who have the popcorn puke bucket Oh yeah

01:27:01 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 5:

I don't 100% have that

01:27:03 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand What goes through your mind To make that an acceptable thing When you could use a trash can Why can't Trash can

01:27:11 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 4:

I feel like it's a rite of passage. Anyone that had a bunch of kids in the house growing up, a big family, because no, but like something about when you're sitting up in bed at three in the morning as a little kid and you're sick, putting your head in the trash can is going to make you puke twice as much. So the popcorn bowl is more just reassurance. I have something if I need it. Hopefully I won't puke. What? Popcorn's a happy feeling. How about this though?

01:27:36 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 5:

That's not. How about this one, Spike? The trash can in the bathroom, that is the obvious place that you go to because you're on the toilet and there. And then your mom or your wife, in my case, cleans it out, and we still use it as the trash can.

01:27:50 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I'd rather have that. See, my parents always had a fancy little wicker trash can. So you couldn't even. That was my mom. Yeah, so you couldn't puke in it. You didn't even want to put trash in it.

01:27:59 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 6:

We had a bucket, like an actual bucket that then my mom would use to pour the stuff in to mop the floors. And it was like this cream colored I can still picture it in my head It was a cream colored bucket And that was our puke bucket

01:28:10 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 2:

Y'all didn't line your garbage cans in your bathroom With garbage bags?

01:28:15 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 4:

Well I do that But my parents didn't

01:28:16 - 01:28:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah my parents never did it either I still don't do that

01:28:19 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 6:

I don't and then I just clean out my Oh that's gross I'm period in my life Oh I do it all the time

01:28:25 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 5:

Maybe use solo cups Oh jeez

01:28:28 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 4:

Solo cups Solo cups That's solo cups yeah Now you got anxiety that you're gonna puke too much And it's gonna overflow Yeah Oh god

01:28:35 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 6:

Now, if my sister were awake, she would call in and say, Shan just used my purses growing up. But that's a different kind of puking.

01:28:42 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 5:

That's puking after a party night. That's either doing that or getting fined by the Uber driver.

01:28:48 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 6:

No, I was banned. I was banned from checker cab in Atlanta, Georgia.

01:28:52 - 01:28:57 | Speaker 5:

Amanda? You there, Amanda? Hi. Oh, I got to push the button. Hi, Amanda.

01:28:58 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:28:59 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 5:

How you doing? What was the puke bucket in your house?

01:29:01 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 1:

um so it's actually our current cute bucket at mine and my husband's house um it is our halloween candy serving bucket so it's halloween themed and we serve our halloween candy children every year out of it kind of embarrassing i hate to admit it that's great that's so funny

01:29:19 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 5:

tell us the neighborhood so we don't ever trick-or-treat there what's up poncho morning how you doing man what's the puke bucket for you guys i'm not doing too hot from this

01:29:30 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 3:

morning, but I wish I could use all these puke buckets. I can't use one of them. Why? I'm a projectile, no matter how much I aim. No matter how much I aim, it will not go in it, so I

01:29:42 - 01:29:44 | Speaker 5:

use the bathtub. Oh, my God.

01:29:44 - 01:29:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You could risk clogging a drain if you use the bathtub. When's the last time you

01:29:50 - 01:29:52 | Speaker 5:

actually got back into the bathtub and took a bath?

01:29:53 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I don't take baths.

01:29:54 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 5:

No. Has anybody ever used it? Your boyfriend ever used it?

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I use

01:29:59 - 01:30:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 3:

What are you doing if you have an excessively chunky puke? You've got to push it and cram it down the drain.

01:30:08 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 2:

I'll scoop it out and throw it in the toilet. That'd make me puke all second time.

01:30:14 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 1:

This is not a good breakfast conversation. Oh my God, the McDonald's arrived. What's up, Taryn?

01:30:21 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so my pee bucket at home is like one of those big red solo cup buckets. It was like a white elephant gift that I got for Christmas. That was like a beer pong set And so there will be my 8 year old Just puking in a big red solo cup

01:30:34 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah so it's not like a little red solo cup It's just like a demonstration one Or something right

01:30:40 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 2:

No it was like a beer pong kit Like it came with the beer Big solo cup and the little balls And that's what we use the puke bucket for

01:30:49 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh man oh man Thank you for the call I appreciate it

01:30:52 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah you too

01:30:54 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 1:

What's up Jen how you doing

01:30:56 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm great And I just want to know, what's a puke bucket? Because my kids just puke wherever the heck they are.

01:31:03 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 1:

That's true.

01:31:05 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 3:

Even if I give them something, it does not matter.

01:31:11 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 1:

That, by the way, to be a mom, I watched this video yesterday. There was a video that was on the news about this little girl that was going to the bus stop and a raccoon attacked her.

01:31:21 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 3:

I saw that. Yeah, isn't that crazy?

01:31:23 - 01:31:45 | Speaker 1:

And this mom picked up the raccoon without even, like, thinking about her safety, grabbed the raccoon off of the kid, and then threw the raccoon. And I looked at Chelsea, and I said, you know, I would never do that for my kids. And she goes, because you're not a mom. It's like the puke thing. I was always the guy, like, when the kids would get sick, I would be like, Chelsea, the kids just threw up.

01:31:47 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 5:

And moms, we'll stick our hands in poop, pee, blood, whatever it takes. You have to do it

01:31:55 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

Megan could you imagine you as a mom

01:31:57 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 2:

No I don't love anybody Including myself enough to put my hand In puke or poop

01:32:01 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Raccoon stop From a distance What's going on Jess

01:32:08 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 4:

Hi So I'm calling in about the Puke buckets so we use our Beach buckets for sand And stuff for our puke buckets at home

01:32:18 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh that's actually a good one because those are fun looking

01:32:20 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 1:

Fun that's what you want and they're deep and they're deep and then and then do you guys go to like the beach with them

01:32:28 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 4:

later or so my husband's like crazy um has a phobia of vomit so when summer rolls around and we go on vacation he's like oh breaking out the puke buckets for the beach um but i do line them with like a grocery bag and paper towel on the bottom because i'm also really grossed out by vomit but i'm a mom so i have to deal with that yeah that's that's uh pretty amazing again you

01:32:52 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 1:

guys are are definitely our uh our saviors you moms you know what's so funny is i'm thinking of

01:32:57 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 5:

where my sand my beach sand buckets are and they're in my garage right now with the shells we collected on our last trip so if i grabbed them there would be shells floating at the pew

01:33:06 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning show

01:33:11 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 1:

Mojo Spike Shannon Megan Mike We've got KP our producer Our associate producer Lydia Reese our director of social impact And Katie our executive audio director Good to see you guys Listening to the show today on channel 955 In Detroit 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo And 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids um all right so uh you guys went away with the uh the kids this weekend shannon you guys did the the trip that uh you blended the blended family thing and something uh happened on this trip that uh was interesting between smith and lucy yeah and if you can ever recall any of your siblings

01:33:57 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 5:

ever daring you to do anything please call us and and share your story because that's exactly what this is about so um this weekend when we were up north my family myself and my two kids and then my boyfriend Wes and his two kids at there was snow up there which was kind of nice for the kids to like go outside and play in the snow and at one point my two little ones were outside playing and I looked out the window of our Airbnb to see Smith with his tongue stuck to the side of my buick enclave he was just standing there and apparently lucy had triple dog dared him to lick the snow off my car and it did get just very lightly stuck at one spot and he was too scared to try to move and lucy must have told him not to say anything so the poor little guy was just standing there not screaming or crying or anything just standing there very still with his tongue stuck to the side of my car. And thank goodness he was totally fine. But we did have a good discussion of just because your sister tells you to do it does not mean that you should go out there and lick all the snow off the side of my car.

01:35:09 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 2:

I wonder how many calls 911 gets every winter from the copycat Christmas story freezing flagpole tongue.

01:35:15 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 5:

Well, and the funny part is it wasn't even just that. It wasn't even just like stick your tongue to the car. It was she had him lick the whole side of my car. Think how disgusting that was. Was it all cleaned off? He did it. He got about three quarters of the way through before I think his tongue got so cold or stuck or whatever happened.

01:35:30 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 4:

Did you see his little tongue like lines all over the place?

01:35:34 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it was so cute. Cute but not cute.

01:35:38 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 4:

Isn't it funny how it's the rite of passage for every older sibling to tell their younger sibling, I dare you to do it and they will do it? Because I've said before that my brother Bill and I shared the same room together. he dared me to climb out the window on a fire ladder that we had so did you guys when you're kids did your parents ever have a fire ladder on your upstairs no we didn't but i always wanted

01:36:01 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 5:

my parents to get one because in school the firefighters came and told you you needed to

01:36:05 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 4:

get one right so my dad had a we had a fire ladder and all the our bedrooms were on the second uh floor and so he put the thing on and hooked it over to the window and was like let's see if this really works and he's daring me to do it my mom's pulling in from the grocery store seeing me try to climb down on the thing and let me just say this to you i was not the skinniest of children i don't know if you guys know this but it was actually a good a good little test i like that uh lucy who's lucy kind of uh she kind of has that little oh she is sneaky yeah she she looks so sweet and innocent nope where does she get that from her dad yeah right actually

01:36:45 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 5:

she gets it from my sister aunt emmy does she yeah what's up hannah hi hi what was the dare

01:36:52 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 6:

okay so when i was younger me and my brothers and my dad would all watch fear factor and then we would fight about well if dad ever goes on fear factor i'm gonna be his teammate you know and my brothers were watching the maggots with cheese eating scene and my brothers were like see you could never do that i was like yeah i could they're like okay i dare you to go eat a maggot right now so like we go and we search under every rock we're outside and we're just looking for maggots we don't know where to find maggots we're so young and i found a slug so i was like i mean this is like the same thing right yeah so i take it in and in front of everybody i hold up the slug and i'm like i could do fear factor and i popped it in my mouth and i swallowed and yeah that was that my dad told me the slug was crawling back up my throat and i was then Terrified.

01:37:39 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 4:

There you go. Joe Rogan would have been proud of you on that show. Mojo in the morning, Leah?

01:37:48 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:37:48 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 4:

Hi. What was the triple dog dare?

01:37:52 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 7:

So my brother and his best friend, I'm a little sister. I always wanted to play with my big brother and his friends. So they were jumping, doing like parkour, and they jumped over a bench, and they're like, oh, I dare you to jump over this bench. You can't do it. And so, of course, me wanting to play with them, I was like, yes, I can. Tried to jump over this bench. My foot got caught, and I went headfirst into the pavement and hit it along the pavement and cracked my head open. Oh, jeez.

01:38:19 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. What did your parents say when they, you know, you had to run them?

01:38:23 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my mom was mortified. My mom was mortified. But, like, I think I was in so much shock that I was like, did I make it?

01:38:32 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Gabby, this is gross. Gabby?

01:38:36 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

01:38:36 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 4:

Put down your food or drinks right now. Gabby, what was the triple dog dare?

01:38:42 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 6:

I dared my sister to drink her pee. No. Oh, no. I know.

01:38:48 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 4:

How old were you guys?

01:38:50 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 6:

She was like five and I was eight.

01:38:53 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 4:

And how much?

01:38:54 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 6:

She didn't mean stuff like that to her.

01:38:55 - 01:38:57 | Speaker 4:

Was it like a full glass? No.

01:38:57 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 6:

No, I think we were just, I remember her showering and she peed in a cup and I was like, I dare you to drink it. I didn't really take much convincing. Did she do it?

01:39:06 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 2:

Can't leave those kids alone? Yes, she did. Oh, my God. I like Mojo's how much, like any amount.

01:39:10 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 3:

A certain amount would have been okay. Does it make it worse that it wasn't her own pee? It was somebody else's pee?

01:39:17 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know what? That would probably, I don't know, that would probably be even grosser, wouldn't it?

01:39:21 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think so.

01:39:22 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 4:

Don is the youngest of seven. I was the youngest of six, Don. I know that older siblings are the worst. Being the youngest, what did you do?

01:39:29 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 8:

yeah so um my siblings would uh always dare to a competition of who could eat the popsicle the fastest or whatever it may be and as soon as they got down to the last bite they would switch with me so that i would win the competition but then they would get two popsicles

01:39:49 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 1:

That's so funny

01:39:51 - 01:39:54 | Speaker 6:

I would have fallen for that too

01:39:54 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning show

01:39:59 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

So we're getting ready

01:40:00 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 2:

for our big jingle ball which is uh happening tonight i'm excited for this it's gonna be so much fun so excited so megan came into town and you checked into your hotel for the next uh couple of nights right so you made sure that you were you know raring and ready for tonight but then also you got to get ready for coming in tomorrow and do the show yeah but you said that there was

01:40:20 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 3:

something interesting about the hotel that you're staying at so of the two times that i've been to my car at this hotel there have been two not one two separate couples making out in the parking lot and you're thinking all right what a what a coinkydink uh I think it's more than that because as I was walking around like the the hallways in my hotel as well uh so many not what like so many people have their doors slightly open to their rooms and that was red flag number one am I gonna to get murdered in this hotel maybe wait what does that mean what does it what does it mean that they have their their doors slightly open i think it means that you're welcome to join if you would like that's what i think it means they went to get ice and they didn't want to have their key card out but it's not one person it's like four or five doors well i've seen that when i do when

01:41:12 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 1:

i used to do like for my daughters the dance competitions or the band competitions where you went to another town there'd be like nine families on one floor so you'd all just leave the things propped open because the kids would constantly be going bouncing back and forth between rooms. Do they have kids at all?

01:41:27 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 3:

I didn't hear any children, but I did hear people bumping uglies in the rooms. Oh, really?

01:41:32 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Oh, wow. The thudding

01:41:33 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 3:

against my room last night at a ridiculously early hour. I solicited

01:41:38 - 01:41:39 | Speaker 1:

a prostitute last night. Exactly.

01:41:40 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 3:

Around 7.15, I heard bumping uglies, and that's early because this was like a marathon session that did not stop until about 10 o'clock when I went to bed. Wow.

01:41:49 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 2:

I have a belief. First off, there's all these little motel that keep popping up places, you know, the Hampton Inns and stuff like that. I have a belief that hookers and people who cheat don't cheat at Hampton Inn because they have a really nice breakfast in the morning. And those people don't take advantage of it.

01:42:05 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, those places aren't the typical prostitute places because they don't charge by the hour. You have to pay for the whole night. And it's those little motels with the private exterior doors that they do that.

01:42:15 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 2:

Dude, there's a motel in Novi that the doors open to the outside. I'm telling you, this place, it's amazing Because that town is a very nice town I'm like, how does this town still have this? Like, how is the township Not said, alright guys The motel, shady motel That's on the side of the road Should get closed down And they shouldn't have this thing here Because it looks, it exudes prostitution Going on in these places You know, do you guys know what I'm talking about? Like when you drive in a town

01:42:44 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I know, I think I know the one you're talking about Because I look at it and I go Nobody's ever stayed there because they need a place for the night It just looks shady. Like, that's the place that they go when you don't want to be seen by everyone.

01:42:56 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of like, remember when Mike went to the Thai massage place? And he went to the Thai massage place, and he said, yeah, I think it was the place where they give you the happy ending.

01:43:07 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's not a place you go because it has a good review. That's a place you go because you don't want people to know.

01:43:12 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 2:

Has anybody ever, okay, here's a question. Has anybody ever, because Megan's thinking that this hotel down the street from the station is right down the street, right?

01:43:20 - 01:43:21 | Speaker 3:

No. It's very far away.

01:43:22 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 2:

Okay. The far away one down the street from the station. Well, there's a million of them down the street here. But has anybody ever been at a hotel, a little motel, you're staying there for maybe like what Spike said, like your dance competitions with your kids or whatever it is, and it turned out that it was a place where there was like some prostitution ring going on or some kind of a, like, I don't know, like Backpage. Is Backpage still around?

01:43:48 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so. I don't think so. It was like a Craigslist for naughty stuff.

01:43:53 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 2:

It was like...

01:43:54 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 1:

But it's also where a lot of trafficking was going on.

01:43:56 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 2:

It was OnlyFans before OnlyFans was OnlyFans.

01:43:59 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that what Craigslist is for?

01:44:01 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 2:

Kind of.

01:44:01 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 1:

A lot of in-person stuff.

01:44:03 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 2:

I think it went Backpage, Craigslist, OnlyFans in that order as far as when things were around. What's going on? How you doing, Stacey?

01:44:11 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 4:

Good, how are you?

01:44:12 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 2:

Good.

01:44:13 - 01:44:22 | Speaker 4:

It sounds like she's had a swinger takeover of some sort. I think so. I watch a lot of that stuff on TikTok. Like, I get engulfed in it. Why? I have no idea. My husband thinks it's crazy. But anyway.

01:44:22 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 2:

A swinger takeover?

01:44:24 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 4:

Like, it's like, yeah, swingers go to, like, hotels, and they leave their doors open.

01:44:29 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 2:

Do you think Megan should knock on the door?

01:44:32 - 01:44:34 | Speaker 3:

I think she should just go in.

01:44:34 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 2:

Megan.

01:44:35 - 01:44:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That came out of me uncontrollably.

01:44:38 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 2:

What if you walked in and it was some hot couple that was in there?

01:44:44 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 4:

Just patting the bed.

01:44:45 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 2:

What if you walked in? What would you do if you walked in and it was Wes and Shannon? Her boyfriend and Shannon.

01:44:52 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 4:

Immediately. It was like somebody you knew. Yeah.

01:44:56 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Would you join them? Would you join them in bed?

01:44:59 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

No.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 3:

You wouldn't? No. If Shannon said.

01:45:02 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 7:

Why would I go with a happy couple? I want to go with a couple that's fighting.

01:45:06 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 6:

I'll tell you, a lot of those swinger couples on TikTok are pretty happy, but there's also a lot of drama, too.

01:45:12 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

01:45:12 - 01:45:17 | Speaker 7:

I want the drama. I don't want to be with the people that are having a good time. I want to hear about the fights that are happening.

01:45:18 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Eric, what's happening?

01:45:20 - 01:45:21 | Speaker 4:

So, how are you today?

01:45:22 - 01:45:24 | Speaker 3:

You know what? We're fantastic.

01:45:24 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 4:

That was really nice. Thank you.

01:45:26 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for asking. It was so kind of you.

01:45:28 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 4:

You're welcome. Thank you. No, but I just wanted to comment about the hotel thing Because I remember a long time ago When I was working for this door-to-door sales company It's by far the worst job I've ever had They sent me down to Fremont, Ohio Or whatever Put something like a red roof in And then one day after work I was just looking outside smoking a cigarette And then I just see all these guys in black suits All geared up with helmets and stuff Going up the stairs Helmets Riot gear 1, 2, 3 Boom I got like an after work show It was kind of funny

01:46:03 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 3:

Wowee So there was a bust going on there

01:46:07 - 01:46:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah I got to witness it It was pretty cool

01:46:10 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 3:

That's incredible

01:46:12 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 4:

Not bad

01:46:15 - 01:46:23 | Speaker 3:

You got a little bit of a fun Little show Going on there What's happening Angie

01:46:23 - 01:46:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah so you guys were still questioning as backpages was a like still thing um a couple weeks ago me and a couple friends were thinking the same thing so we looked it up and they sure enough still offer the old services that they offered years ago plus with a twist um they've added services like pet grooming and things that

01:46:46 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 1:

they would offer on Craigslist your errands done too on backpages or yeah on backpages is still a

01:46:53 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 3:

thing um i thought they shut that down they had to branch out shannon because there was there

01:46:58 - 01:47:03 | Speaker 1:

okay well honest to god sometimes my my favorite dog groomer is unavailable i mean i get real

01:47:03 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 3:

desperate i got her on back page and then they offer the good grooming hey amelia used to be the general manager at one of these motel hotels what's up hi yeah i worked at um area it's all

01:47:21 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 6:

over the country and i think this is like way more common than you think it is in really nice hotels like people have prostitutes all the time yeah i was gonna say all the time somebody texted

01:47:32 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 7:

him was like does this place have an hourly rate i was like no this is not like a they don't need an hourly rate this is not like a sketchy hotel i was kind of shocked can i can i ask you can i

01:47:45 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 3:

ask you a question with the people that would stay at these really nice places that you general managed that you knew were going up with prostitutes, would the prostitutes be there by the hour or would they enjoy the comforts of this gorgeous hotel?

01:47:58 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I mean, that's up to the customer.

01:48:00 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 3:

But did you ever see a prostitute go up and then like an hour later, she just leaves with her bag?

01:48:06 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 6:

For sure.

01:48:07 - 01:48:10 | Speaker 3:

What if it's like a makeup artist doing makeup on somebody, you know?

01:48:11 - 01:48:12 | Speaker 6:

Well, that's different. You can tell.

01:48:13 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 2:

That's why I think Megan should have popped her head in. It was only one way to find out.

01:48:16 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 6:

I mean, you know, worst thing that could happen is they ask her to join. Yeah.

01:48:20 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Megan, please put your head in a stranger's room while they're naked. That would be absolutely safe and fine. In a stranger's crotch.

01:48:27 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 3:

By the way, the funniest thing with Megan is Megan always talks about how she never gets included in things. Now she's going to get included, and she's not happy about it.

01:48:36 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 7:

There's a difference between being included in, like, a lunch with your coworkers and being included with a strange man naked in a hotel room. Very true.

01:48:44 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 2:

Actually, it's not that different when you've been to our lunch.

01:48:49 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:48:52 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 3:

All right, let's do the Dirty on the 30. By the way, we're going to do a preview of our Jingle Ball with the artist and what we know about who's coming up and stuff at 9 o'clock this morning after breakup or make up right now. Shannon, what's up in the Dirty?

01:49:05 - 01:49:16 | Speaker 1:

Well, we got another teaser for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's upcoming Netflix documentary. And they are hitting the royal family hard. Harry laying out new allegations about his family's attacks on his wife.

01:49:17 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 2:

There's a hierarchy of the family. You know, there's leaking, but there's also planting of stories.

01:49:22 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 6:

There was a war against Meghan to suit other people's genders.

01:49:27 - 01:49:40 | Speaker 2:

It's about hatred. It's about race. It's a dirty game. The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, this feeding frenzy. They're never going to protect you. I was terrified. I didn't want history to repeat itself.

01:49:40 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 1:

So the documentary is going to be split into two parts to be released the next two Thursdays. I'm so excited, too.

01:49:48 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 7:

I am so excited.

01:49:49 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 1:

Somebody commenting on this is a woman named Angela Levin, who wrote an official biography of Prince Harry. And she said, Megan, it is just bad news for him all around. I'm afraid, as we found with Meghan, there were her truths, but not really the real truths. I just do think that if you're lucky, you get someone who brings out the best in you as a partner. Sometimes you get someone who brings out the worst. And I honestly feel that Meghan has brought out the worst in him.

01:50:20 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 5:

My question is, what is the worst? Standing up for himself against an institution that doesn't respect him and his wife?

01:50:26 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 3:

So they're getting slammed right now, big time over in the UK. but they're getting slammed here too because they have found some parts of this that have turned out to be a bunch of BS. One of them was they were talking about the paparazzi and they were talking about how these guys have been attacked more by the paparazzi than even Princess Diana. And the video footage they've used was footage of the paparazzi at a Harry Potter premiere.

01:50:52 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 4:

So I didn't hear that one. I did hear that.

01:50:55 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 3:

That's a big story this morning on that.

01:50:56 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 4:

the footage that there's a lot of different, the footage was taken out of context, a lot of different places in that trailer, for example, when they show Princess Diana. They're fact-checking the crap out of this thing. Yeah, when they show Princess Diana just being attacked by a crowd, it was when she had given up her official you know, police security by Scotland Yard. Like, there are so many things. There's a Harry one, it was when he was with his ex-girlfriend. The Harry and

01:51:21 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Meghan one of the paparazzi, he hadn't even met, The movie that came out, the Harry Potter movie that came out, he hadn't even met Meghan for, like, another decade.

01:51:30 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

01:51:31 - 01:51:32 | Speaker 3:

And they're using the footage of that.

01:51:32 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's the one where they crapped out his girlfriend.

01:51:34 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 3:

They crapped out, yes. They crapped out Chelsea Davey. Yeah.

01:51:36 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, there is a lot of that, but I'm still going to be watching.

01:51:41 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 5:

I think the most frustrating part is the biggest thing that they've said, Harry and Meghan, is that racism was a huge factor in them leaving the family. And everybody said, you're lying, you're lying, you're lying, you're lying. And then last week, we have a clear case of admitted racism inside palace walls by staff, and everybody goes, ah, Harry and Meghan's still lying.

01:51:59 - 01:52:04 | Speaker 3:

Right. Like, what? Well, no, but the interesting thing is it wasn't Charles and William that everybody thought it was, though.

01:52:04 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 5:

Well, not in that scenario, but that's not to say that it doesn't happen.

01:52:09 - 01:52:12 | Speaker 2:

The propaganda continues even now in trying to, like, knock them down with this stuff.

01:52:12 - 01:52:31 | Speaker 5:

And let us not be ignorant to the fact that the royal family controls most of the media over there. So if they're the ones that are being the bad guys in these stories, they're going to put up a lot of propaganda saying, oh, no, it's not us. It's Harry and Meghan. You're fighting a huge system when it comes to the royal family. Yeah.

01:52:33 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 4:

Actress Kirstie Alley has passed away after battling cancer. Not doing magic to play for that one. Sorry. She was 71 years old. Her family and manager posting on her social media. We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer only recently discovered. I love that they wrote, as iconic as she was on screen, she was an even more amazing mother and grandmother. 71 years old, just so young.

01:52:59 - 01:53:00 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know she was 71.

01:53:00 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:53:01 - 01:53:22 | Speaker 3:

You know what I was thinking about, too? I was thinking about the fact that she must have been really, really bad in the last days because she gave all of her social media platforms to her daughters to be able to take over and to write on. And I thought about that with, you know, I know it sounds morbid, but I almost feel like we got to give you got to give our social media platforms to like a family member so that people know what's going on.

01:53:22 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 2:

Well, sometimes they do a really nice job of preserving the memorial. I still follow Leslie Jordan's account. He died earlier, you know, a couple of months ago, and his family still continues to post these wonderful videos that because I always went there and you just want to be happy. There's a certain people you visit on social media and they're still posting all these goofy little videos he had stocked away for another day.

01:53:41 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 4:

Kim Kardashian granted a restraining order Against a man who claimed They communicated telepathically Kim told the court that this guy Showed up to her home just three times In August alone claiming to be armed She was worried he could become physically violent But yeah he kept saying that they are in communication But telepathically That's how he's been doing it The five year order of protection against the man in question His name is Andre Persaud Was granted yesterday in LA And Tom Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes in the final three minutes of Monday Night Football last night, helping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rally from a 13-point deficit to beat the Saints 17-16. But not before Brady screamed at his teammates on special teams at the start of the fourth quarter. The ESPN cameras turned to Brady on the Buccaneers bench, and he was studying the tablet from, you know, the last series. He lifted up his head and yelled out, GD, what the F is that?

01:54:40 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 3:

The punter was awful last night.

01:54:42 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 5:

He's making some plays. I think he's yelling at somebody.

01:54:45 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there we go. What was he saying? Catch the ball. What was he saying there, Dana? Can you read lips? Can you read lips, Dana? What was he saying? Yeah, I was reading his lips. Yeah, he's not happy.

01:54:54 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 4:

He's not happy. Here he is in the locker room after the game, though.

01:54:57 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 2:

Just like we drew it up. It's like we drew it up. I mean, you guys know what it was like to go through a divorce and stuff. They're saying that he has been a hothead ever since then. He was always calm and cool and stuff on the sidelines, but now he's getting crazier.

01:55:11 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 1:

Is his divorce real?

01:55:13 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. That was the rumor was that it's not because they're just trying to hide money from that.

01:55:18 - 01:55:20 | Speaker 1:

I don't think his divorce is real. I don't think he's upset about that.

01:55:21 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 2:

He's a hothead just because he's losing?

01:55:23 - 01:55:26 | Speaker 1:

No, he's a hothead because he's losing his money out of his butt. That's what.

01:55:27 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 2:

Maybe a little bit of all, right? I mean, if they would have lost last night, if they would have lost last night, they would have had the same record that the Lions have. Oh, really? Yeah. If they lost last night, now they're 500.

01:55:38 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 1:

I'm just so fascinated in his game because at his age, he should not be playing this dangerous game. And I don't know what he has to prove because he already for many years, he could have ended on top and he still would have been called the goat. And why is he still doing it? It's dangerous. I don't get it. He's committed to it. And I'm still watching him. But I'm like, every time he goes out there now, he's risking a serious injury or risking at the end of the season, kind of going out a little deflated, pun intended. But like he's not, but like he could have ended on top. Why is he still playing?

01:56:07 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 3:

Love you guys so much. Thank you. Love you back.

01:57:01 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Love you, too. See you tonight. More Mojo next. Mojo in the Morning Show. break up her makeup kirsten i'm with us right now kirsten how you doing hi i'm good how are you good so you guys have been in a relationship for about a year you and your boyfriend and the holidays are fast approaching and you got something sent to you by your boyfriend's family that has left you wondering what exactly you should do and it Deals with the family holiday get-together. What exactly is it?

01:57:48 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so it's really weird. I keep getting texts from his mom. And they're like links to Christmas gift ideas for his sisters. And it's like a lot of gifts. Like a lot.

01:58:03 - 01:58:18 | Speaker 2:

So hold on. Not that you're getting texts from his mom saying, hey, this might be something that your boyfriend might want. she's actually sending you links to things that his sisters might want yes gift ideas for his

01:58:18 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 4:

sisters and it's like constantly wait so are you guys all expected to give gifts for each other or buy gifts for each other no i mean that was never i i've never done that this early in a

01:58:31 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 2:

relationship i i mean we tell everybody how early when did you guys start dating uh well it's it's

01:58:38 - 01:58:43 | Speaker 4:

It's been a little bit about, like, less than a year, but it's about to hit that year mark.

01:58:43 - 01:58:44 | Speaker 2:

So this is your first Christmas together?

01:58:45 - 01:58:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's our very first Christmas together, and I'm really excited about it. And I, you know, already have his gift, and I think he has mine, but I'm not, I wasn't planning on getting gifts for his entire family.

01:58:56 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. How big is his family? How many sisters are we talking here?

01:58:59 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 4:

He has two sisters.

01:59:01 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 2:

This is an interesting question to bring up. When is it that you have to buy gifts for family members of people that you're dating? So if you, if you've been dating less than a year, I'm assuming that you and the parents maybe exchange something, but I don't know if you have to exchange something with siblings. Like, I don't think that you necessarily have to, to do that. What is, first off, what does your boyfriend say about this? What is, what is his explanation about this?

01:59:26 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I feel like that's the worst part because he doesn't take my side at all. And he thinks that I need to just keep the peace and make his mom happy.

01:59:35 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 3:

okay yeah okay so that's the issue because honestly the the assumption of his mom that you're gonna buy like maybe she's just being nice and just giving you some ideas in case but the fact that your boyfriend won't stick stick up for you is is the issue here that's a big one

01:59:53 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 2:

yeah i i don't i will say this that i think that it yeah that that assumption is like way over the line. It is, but she could just not get them gifts. Okay, whatever. She wasn't planning on it. It does. But that's not a breakup or makeup to me. But the fact that her boyfriend won't stand up for her in that situation is a big issue.

02:00:13 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 1:

What if the sisters all get her gift and she doesn't get them anything at all?

02:00:16 - 02:00:22 | Speaker 2:

I know. It's a lose-lose. She's in between a rock and a hard place.

02:00:22 - 02:00:40 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. How early in a relationship are you supposed to be buying gifts for family members, especially like in this case, you know, siblings? Your thoughts on this one. I'd love to know. Hi, comment here. Oh, I lost you. Hello, Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:00:42 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 7:

Hi, where is this?

02:00:44 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that radio show sounds good. Who are you listening to? Oh, check out the phone. They sounded really good. Turn your phones down when you call us. What's up, Veronica?

02:00:53 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 8:

Hi.

02:00:53 - 02:00:54 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's happening?

02:00:54 - 02:01:18 | Speaker 8:

nothing so i feel i've been together with my fiance for two years now and our first we were together for six months i don't understand why it's such a problem that you can't spike a present really well maybe she's not rich i don't know that's true but i mean you can there's always something you can do for free yeah and then then you're known as the person that

02:01:18 - 02:01:40 | Speaker 1:

got free gifts i don't know i don't you think that this is something though that should be disgust with him and her like he shouldn't just sit there and put all this pressure what about your do you have siblings kirsten do you have like a brother and a sister or anybody yeah i have one brother are you gonna make your boyfriend buy him a gift no absolutely not i would never expect that

02:01:40 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 5:

yeah i mean that's i don't know i i get it what's up nicole hi um i was with my boyfriend for about six months at the time we're together for three years now but when we were only six months and then it came around christmas time i at least gave his siblings and his parents one gift and

02:02:03 - 02:02:10 | Speaker 1:

you know were they were they little siblings sometimes that means something so so one of them

02:02:10 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 5:

uh she was 11 at the time and then the other one was in his 20s yeah like joe joe and in you know

02:02:17 - 02:02:27 | Speaker 1:

Jacob have dated people That have bought like Luke something Because he was like the youngest So I kind of understand that But if these Kirsten these are older sisters right

02:02:27 - 02:02:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah one's in college

02:02:29 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 3:

And one's in high school

02:02:30 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay alright Well I guess the high school one's kind of young

02:02:32 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 3:

I also think sometimes it's hard to join a dude's family Like there's a lot of barriers Whether it's mom, sisters, whatever So if they're extending this like Hey we want everybody to get involved I think you might be looking at it the wrong way This might be a great way for them to welcome you Into the family group and create Those memories and celebrations and Traditions together and imagine if you don't

02:02:53 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 1:

Buy the gifts what it's going to be like in that family Right it's going to get very interesting Aubrey

02:02:59 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 7:

Hello hey So My current fiance and I Were only dating like three months By the first Christmas And I didn't really know his siblings Enough or they didn't know me enough to get gifts at that point so i think it was just like an unsaid thing and we didn't get each other gifts but i got his parents gifts yeah yeah this one's a sad thing though what do

02:03:26 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 1:

you think about the boldness of mom sending links to things i think unless the mom has like

02:03:32 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 7:

suggestions or like is willing to help her out pick gifts out that's like kind of over over the top for like an

02:03:44 - 02:03:47 | Speaker 1:

early gift. How expensive are these linked gifts? Yeah, that's a good

02:03:47 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 6:

question. They kind of are all over the map. I mean, some of them are like really nice electronics and stuff from like Amazon and then other things are like clothes from like decently nice places. Did she

02:04:01 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 2:

send your boyfriend different links? Because I'm wondering if she did that thinking, you're the more responsible one. Like this is going to be, these are gonna be gifts that he he's gonna buy or you're gonna buy them as a couple or like i wonder if

02:04:16 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 6:

that was her thinking yeah i mean it could be i don't know i don't really talk to her that much

02:04:24 - 02:04:40 | Speaker 1:

so i don't know yeah tiffany you say it's uh inappropriate yeah i don't see it dev your phone's in a bad spot yes i'm sorry hi hi you think you say it's inappropriate i think it's inappropriate

02:04:40 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 4:

the way that the mom and the boyfriend are responding. I've been with my significant other for 10 years. We usually buy gifts for our own families because I come from a family of six and he has siblings. Both of our sides have...

02:05:00 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 6:

you know we have nieces and nephews so um what we usually do is we buy for our own families and then we'll put you know josh and tiffany together so you know i think i think the bigger problem here as somebody else pointed out is not so much the buying the presents it's you know trying to please the mom and the lack of communication the lack of you know backing her up um i just think it's inappropriate christmas isn't about gifts it's about being with family members and she may not have them tell my kids i just i think it's a really upsetting situation even from out an outsider standpoint it's it's extremely inappropriate from so many

02:05:47 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 3:

different uh viewpoints you know are they are they a rich family kirsten um yeah i would say They got a little bit of money, huh? That's a tough one, too. Step into it, and then you got to keep up with... My mom used to always say, keep up with the Joneses. I never knew who the Joneses were. She would always say that. Keep up with the mix. The Megan mix. The rich Megan mix.

02:06:14 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 2:

You got to keep cars that don't work in your front yard.

02:06:16 - 02:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Lisa, last call from you. What do you think she should do? What should Kirsten do?

02:06:21 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I like the idea of them putting both of their names on the gift. But if the boyfriend wants to keep the peace with the mother and thinks it's not that big of a deal, then let him buy the gifts and put the girlfriend's name on it.

02:06:32 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic. Thank you so much.

02:06:35 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 5:

You're welcome.

02:06:35 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 3:

Appreciate it. Yep.

02:06:36 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:06:41 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's going to be fun tonight. We're going to be doing our jingle ball tonight. Brought to you by Capital One and great sponsors locally. You know, I want to shout out all the sponsors. If I miss any, you guys let me know. But first and foremost, thank you. Supercuts, Family Heating, Cooling, and Electric, Sorokis, Crispy Chicken, and Pizza. Our good friend Tom, who we know and we love. And, man, we would love for him to cater a breakfast for us tomorrow morning if he's willing to do this at the Hudson Cafe.

02:07:20 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 5:

He'll be here next week doing that for us.

02:07:21 - 02:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Well, Tom, a week early would be much better, but that's okay. We can always, there's no problem with that. Thank you to our friends from the Monroe Street Midway. You can find out more about them at deckedoutdetroit.com. Thank you to, oh, God, I've got to thank, Hassan got me a ride tonight, and I was all excited about that. But is it top-notch limos, I think it is? Spike, they said that you've used them before. Yeah, they're awesome.

02:07:51 - 02:07:57 | Speaker 1:

They're great people. They're awesome. They're so good. I had my headphones off. Did you say Bedrock? Yes, I did. Did you say La Fontaine Kia?

02:07:57 - 02:08:01 | Speaker 3:

No, La Fontaine Kia. Where did they come from? They jumped on board. Hello, guys.

02:08:01 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 1:

And, of course, our national partners, CW and Mucinex, which you'll be tired of hearing about later.

02:08:08 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 3:

Mucinex? I need that now. You don't understand. I need some Mucinex DM right now because I came down with something. Will they have that, by the way, in the green room in the back? Will they have samples of Mucinex?

02:08:20 - 02:08:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, there's a lot of national tour partners that are making it all happen, like Dunkin' and DraftKings Casino and Cheez-It, Walmart, Pepsi, and Visible. And they're the ones that are like, we're flying Backstreet Boys in from Belgium for us. Like, they're not on a U.S. tour right now. They made a special exception to come to Detroit for this show. Wow.

02:08:39 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, we're excited. Thank you to everybody that's doing it. Thanks to our company for giving us a jingle ball, too. It's about time.

02:08:45 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 1:

I'm so excited. We've been waiting for this for a while. Hashtag 955 jingle ball. So make sure we see your pictures because we'll share a lot of those on our social.

02:08:53 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 2:

DM me your seat numbers.

02:08:54 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

I was, yeah.

02:08:55 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 2:

DM me where you're sitting. Oh, that's a great idea. I'm going to come see you in the crowd. Same.

02:08:59 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 1:

I've been telling people that, especially if you put together a special outfit. I already wrote down, Megan's a listener. Megan Laws, actually, her and her girlfriends made Mojo in the Morning Jingle Ball hoodies. I'm going to visit them in their seats to get some pictures.

02:09:11 - 02:09:15 | Speaker 3:

Crystal sent me last night, and I thought they were for me. I was like, oh, excited.

02:09:15 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, don't say that part on the air.

02:09:17 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, no.

02:09:17 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 1:

We're supposed to surprise people.

02:09:19 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 3:

We're going to surprise, but I'm not going to tell you who we're going to surprise, but can I say that the front row seats?

02:09:22 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 1:

Only if you want to be bugged the entire night by people.

02:09:23 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 3:

But I have them in my 313 Presents little app. I might have to go sit there for a little bit of time before I transfer those things over. I've never sat front row at a concert. Have you guys ever sat front row at a concert?

02:09:38 - 02:09:43 | Speaker 5:

I have. One time, and it was amazing. One time.

02:09:43 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 3:

What concert was it, front row, Shannon?

02:09:45 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 5:

Michael Buble.

02:09:46 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 3:

No, you would have loved it

02:09:50 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 2:

You know my buddy Todd Downing Surprised his wife for her birthday

02:09:54 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 3:

Former quarterback's coach for the Lions Now the offensive coordinator

02:09:57 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

I think it was her four

02:10:00 - 02:10:04 | Speaker 3:

30th birthday, or 30th birthday, I can't remember, but it was amazing.

02:10:04 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 1:

Well, I did for Kid Rock and almost fried my face off because of the pyrotechnics. You don't understand how hot it gets in the front row when they have fire and fireworks.

02:10:13 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 4:

So the poor security woman in front of me was the weekend show. He had so many pyrotechnics that I literally grabbed her and, like, protected the back of her head with my hands so her hair didn't catch on fire. It was so hot. It was so cool.

02:10:26 - 02:11:01 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny? Not that story But you know what's funny You know what that was I wasn't really paying attention No, no, no, no You know what's funny What's funny is I'm looking at all the songs that are going to be performed tonight And I'm looking at Like all the songs that Kid Leroy has Okay Between Stay, between Without You Between Thousand Miles Like all the songs that are hits Then I'm looking at that Nikki Yore I know one song that the guy has But that's okay, he can go up there and say hi to everybody too

02:11:01 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 1:

He's one of those artists you're going to come back next year And go, oh my god, I saw him before he had seven big hits

02:11:05 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 2:

He's got the Sunroof song Which was the song of Summer Then AJR Are great live, I hear Everybody keeps talking about how great live they are Jax, the Victoria's Secret song Is so good, and I just saw a video From EJ of Jax Performing at the Kiss LA show And it was like amazing Tate McRae What a voice on Tate McRae And Tate McRae's got like a ton of songs That you kind of know Then you got Macklemore Who we just played a little bit ago And we were all talking about how many hit songs Does Macklemore have? I'm telling you right now

02:11:43 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 1:

Because I've seen videos of all the other Jingle Balls Macklemore is going to light the building on fire He will be the best performance of the night I know Backstreet Boys are closing And everybody's excited to see him Macklemore is going to set the temperature level For the entire night

02:11:55 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 2:

I think, honestly, I think Macklemore might outshine most others, but I think that Khalid's going to be good, too. Like, I think if Khalid does talk and better the way that I've seen Khalid do talk and better, I think that if you're there and you're horny, you're going to get even hornier.

02:12:17 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 4:

Don't let me meet him. Don't let me. Why? I will probably start taking my clothes off. Like, don't. I'm in love with him. Please don't.

02:12:26 - 02:12:29 | Speaker 2:

Really? I'm most excited. You know who he looks like? He looks like EJ.

02:12:29 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 4:

Yes, he does. I tell EJ that all the time. He does look like EJ. Yes.

02:12:33 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to actually bring EJ on the concourse, and I'm going to say that it's Khalid doing autograph signings. So, okay, so let's go through it. First off, parking-wise, I talked to Mark over at the parking. He said there's going to be plenty of parking. Yeah. Downtown will be great. So everything will be good. They've got their lots. I'd park in the garage if you can get in the garage, you know, that UWM garage is a great garage. I parked there the other day. That was like for a Pistons game. Oh, my God. I was out of there on the freeway in like seconds.

02:13:03 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 1:

We're not telling you the whole lineup of the show, but there's big acts right from the start. You want to be in your seats. That show starts at 730. You want to be in that in your seats.

02:13:12 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would I would say this. Don't get caught in traffic. Right. You don't want to do that. Yes. And stay till the very end, especially because, like, somebody got scared when we said that Backstreet Boys are scheduled to be on stage at, like, 1045. Yeah. It's going to be a later night than you think. Right. Because there's that many artists. There's 10 artists.

02:13:32 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So from 730 to 1130, it is nonstop. I don't know how the iHeart national team does it, but they literally have four minutes between each act. I'm guessing. I haven't been down there for production. We usually do a rotating stage. So while one's on stage, they set up the whole band behind them for the next. But there's literally four minutes between each act. I don't know how they do it.

02:13:52 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's going to be great. I'm looking at this. I'm going, where? Because I'm looking at what we have to do, too, because we're all going to do interviews. We're going to be on the Joe Show on Channel 955 in the afternoon doing stuff. On EJ's show at night doing things.

02:14:07 - 02:14:33 | Speaker 1:

Look at my screen. I've been typing all morning my schedule for the night to make sure I know where I have time to pee. Because it's literally so crazy with all the stuff we do on stage, backstage. and I want to make sure to be able to walk around, visit people out in their seats. How are you going to anticipate your bladder? Oh, to pee? Yeah. You just hold it until you've got to go. This is the window right here. I have 12 minutes from 740 to 752. That's where I can pee.

02:14:33 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 3:

This is my last drink of the day because I have so many layers of Spanx. I will not be able to take my clothes off to pee.

02:14:40 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine? We go out to introduce Backstreet Boys. Where's Megan? Well, she's stuck in her Spanx right now. She's still trying to get them pulled up. She peed herself.

02:14:48 - 02:14:56 | Speaker 2:

I hope they have good food in the green room, too. That'd be great. I mean, did you guys think about that? I don't eat. I want good food. You don't eat?

02:14:56 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 3:

Why don't you eat?

02:14:57 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 2:

We're going to be there from 3 until 11.30. I know.

02:15:00 - 02:15:02 | Speaker 3:

So you eat at 5, and then we're done for the night.

02:15:02 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 6:

You guys, I will cry when I see the backstreet point. 11-year-old Shannon Murphy comes out, and it's really embarrassing.

02:15:11 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 4:

Tonight, Jingle Ball tickets are still available. You can get them at Ticketmaster.com. There are still some seats available. Go check it out, Ticketmaster.com.

02:15:24 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 1:

We'll be right back. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6. Coming up in minutes.

02:15:30 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 2:

Six on six, six. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking.

02:15:37 - 02:15:42 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that a thing? Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, six on six.

02:15:42 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 4:

Is this Rob? Yes, it is. Rob, it is Mojo in the Morning. Are you okay if your voice goes on the radio? Yeah, sure, that's all right. You're going to take part in a little contest here with your daughter, Shannon. Oh, God.

02:15:55 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:15:57 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 4:

All right, say hello to Shannon. Rob. Hello.

02:16:00 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 5:

Hey, girl. What's up? Not a whole lot.

02:16:03 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, would you like to tell your dad the name of the contest that you're playing this morning?

02:16:07 - 02:16:14 | Speaker 5:

This is Six on Sex. I'm sorry, what was that again? Six on Sex. Oh, God.

02:16:15 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever heard this contest before, Dad?

02:16:17 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 5:

No, I haven't.

02:16:19 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 4:

No. Dad, we ask Shannon six very personal questions about her sex life, and she answers those questions while you're listening in on the other line. All you have to do is stay there If you hang up at any time She loses the prize Or if for some reason in the middle of the conversation You decide to disown your daughter She loses the prize also

02:16:40 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 3:

Alright Now it sounds like you're on speakerphone I just want to warn you If you're at work with co-workers You may not want to be on speaker

02:16:49 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 5:

But you feel free to comment On all of Shannon's answers if you'd like

02:16:54 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 4:

I don't know about that I like how, by the way, we're asking to take it off speakerphone because we don't want other people to hear it, but yet we're on the radio talking to over a million and a half listeners right now. Don't remind me. Shannon, six on sex, question number one. How old were you, and where did you lose your virginity?

02:17:16 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 6:

I was 17, and it was in my bedroom at home.

02:17:22 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 4:

Did Dad know about that at all? No.

02:17:24 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 6:

So, they were home. They were sleeping. Oh, shit.

02:17:31 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 5:

Imagine that. Yeah.

02:17:33 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 4:

Question number two in Six on Sex. How many people have you had sex with?

02:17:40 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 6:

24. That's a very specific number. Do you keep track? I do, actually, yeah. I have a little list that I keep. Where do you keep your list? In a journal that I have.

02:17:52 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 3:

And do they get ratings or stars next to them?

02:17:55 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 6:

No, just the name and the date of when I first had sex with them.

02:17:59 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 4:

What's the reasoning for that?

02:18:01 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. It's something that I started when I first lost my virginity, and I just have kept up with it.

02:18:08 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, by six-on-sex standards of all the women we've talked to over the last couple years, 24 is a very respectable number. It really is. Very, yes. You are respectable.

02:18:18 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 4:

Question number three in six-on-sex. Here goes the respectable.

02:18:23 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 5:

How are you holding up, Dad? It's a different number. I didn't think it would be that high, but that's okay, I guess. All right.

02:18:31 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 4:

Question number three and six on sex. Shannon, when's the last time that you had sex? And with who, or I have to say whom?

02:18:42 - 02:18:47 | Speaker 6:

About a month ago with a booty call. Or a friend with benefits, I should say.

02:18:49 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 4:

All right. Next time you see your dad and you're with this guy, Will you say, Dad, this is the booty call I was talking about on Mojo in the morning?

02:18:54 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 6:

Maybe. I might.

02:18:57 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 4:

This is now where we start getting interesting with Six on Sex. Shannon, what's one thing that is on your sex bucket list that you would like to try sometime?

02:19:09 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 6:

Sleep with a married man. What? Yeah. Why? I don't know. I don't know why. It's just something that I've always been kind of curious about. Wow. I mean, you're doing the same thing that you would do with a guy who didn't have a wife.

02:19:28 - 02:19:32 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, don't try to talk her out of it. I'm sorry. You're not the moral character.

02:19:32 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 3:

You know, Mojo's married.

02:19:35 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 4:

Hey, come on now. I'm blushing. Dad, I did not sleep with your daughter. I'm not in her little journal.

02:19:44 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 5:

You're not on her bucket list, huh?

02:19:46 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 4:

What do you think about that, Dad?

02:19:49 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 5:

I don't know.

02:19:52 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

She wants more drama in her life. I don't know if that's the kind of drama you want. Question number five in 6 on Sex.

02:20:00 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 2:

Two more questions left. How dirty is your dirty talk, and can you give us an example?

02:20:10 - 02:20:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, God. It doesn't get too dirty, but I guess, like, f*** me, f***. Like that. Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

02:20:23 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 1:

Dad, was that as uncomfortable for you as it was for us?

02:20:27 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 3:

Not really.

02:20:28 - 02:20:30 | Unknown:

No. Okay.

02:20:30 - 02:20:35 | Speaker 3:

Something tells me we can't phase this guy. Make the last question a good one, Mojo.

02:20:36 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Shannon, listener Shannon, question number six in Six on Sex. What's the dirtiest thing that you've ever done to a guy, and will you please tell us and your father?

02:20:52 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 4:

Probably, oh, God.

02:21:00 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my goodness.

02:21:08 - 02:21:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow.

02:21:08 - 02:21:10 | Speaker 3:

All right, get a good visual, Dad.

02:21:11 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I got one. Shannon, that was Six on Sex. Congratulations. Thank you. If you would like to be a guest on Six on Sex, you can text SEX to 95500 and be on a future Mojo in the Morning show. 6 on 6 on sex Mojo in the morning 6 on sex Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:22:02 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 2:

All right, getting ready for the Jingle Ball tonight. Going to be fun. Tickets still available. You can get them at Ticketmaster.com. We will see you there. Right now, we're going to get the last Dirty of the morning. Shannon, what's trending this hour?

02:22:15 - 02:22:26 | Speaker 1:

21 years. The man who shot and wounded Lady Gaga's dog walker and stole her French bulldogs last year took a plea deal, was slapped with 21 years in prison.

02:22:26 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 2:

This guy got 21 years for attempted murder. For attempted murder, okay.

02:22:32 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that was the charge. What city is this?

02:22:35 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 2:

Was this Los Angeles?

02:22:36 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, right? Yes.

02:22:37 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm shocked. They don't ever give anybody anything time there, it seems like.

02:22:40 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 1:

And here's the thing. The Lady Gaga connection to this was total coincidence. Like, basically, they just wanted French Bulldogs. This guy and his buddies drove around the Hollywood Hills and the San Fernando Valley looking for Frenchies.

02:22:51 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 2:

Did you think the celebrity access or the angle of it got more time for the guy?

02:22:56 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, it definitely wasn't a good look for them. That definitely puts pressure on the prosecutor to take good action. But as soon as they found out, remember the story broke, and everybody started looking, and she put a reward out, and they quickly dumped the dog. Half a million dollars, yes.

02:23:08 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 1:

And it was on video. It was on video, and there were so many different people involved, but this was like the main guy. He's the one that got slapped with this 21-year sentence. Both doggies are okay, but...

02:23:19 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 2:

Did you guys see that New York story this last week where the guy pulled a baseball bat out of his pants and started, like, just beating the hell out of somebody? No. Google that. It was, like, the story that.

02:23:29 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 3:

Why would I want to?

02:23:30 - 02:24:01 | Speaker 2:

Well, because that's what's going on in New York City right now. There's, like, people, like, there's these random attacks that are going on. And I was talking to a friend of mine who works at our radio station out there, one of the iHeart stations, and he was telling me that they've had to add, like, security and stuff like that for, like, the early morning staff that is going in and out of work. Just because of the scariest of it. But this video was crazy. The guy pulls a bat out of his pants, like a baseball bat, and starts beating the crap out of this.

02:24:01 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they had an issue last winter. There was a couple people they caught, like, completely attempting to murder homeless people. And one guy was shot, like, while sleeping in an alley. But they said they were, like, for some reason the homeless people around town were the victims. And people were going out to purposely attack them.

02:24:20 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Nike announced they've officially cut ties with Brooklyn Net star Kyrie Irving. He is no longer under contract with Nike after, remember, he tweeted that link to a movie that was described as anti-Semitic, and then he refused for a good period of time to say he was against anti-Semitism. The decision to sever ties with Kyrie comes just a month after Nike suspended their agreement with him and announced it would not be releasing the latest version of his sneakers that Kyrie ate. Britney Spears doesn't have an Instagram again as of this morning. It's the sixth time she's deleted her Instagram account. And fans at this point, like former fans who were...

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 4:

hardcore with the free Britney movement are now saying, okay, we're worried.

02:25:03 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 5:

Did you talk about her Instagram yesterday and the Jamie Lynn Spears post?

02:25:07 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:25:08 - 02:25:12 | Speaker 5:

Okay. I don't think Britney is in control of her Instagram anymore. Why?

02:25:12 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 2:

Oh, because it was a positive post?

02:25:13 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, it was a positive post about Jamie Lynn Spears, which obviously they don't have a good relationship. And I believe it was on Britney's birthday, or maybe it was Jamie's birthday. And it was just, I'm so appreciative. I love my sister. this, but we also know that she did the total money. So it's not something that Brittany would

02:25:33 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 2:

probably know. Maybe they have healing going on

02:25:35 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 5:

in that family. I don't think so.

02:25:37 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 2:

But who would do that then? Who would be the person? Because she no longer has a conservator or anything. But that's why I think

02:25:45 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 5:

that it's getting posted and deleted, whether it's the husband or a team member.

02:25:49 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

I suspect the husband of foul play now.

02:25:51 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 2:

We all said that this guy was going to be no good. Yeah. I don't know

02:25:55 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 5:

about him. I'm just saying, it's very

02:25:57 - 02:25:59 | Speaker 2:

interesting. He makes Kevin Federline seem insane.

02:26:00 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 4:

Kevin Federline's the normal one. Is he? Is he? Is he? In this situation, yeah. He's got the kids.

02:26:07 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's raising the kids.

02:26:09 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 4:

Disgraced attorney Michael Avenatti sentenced yesterday to 14 years in prison and also ordered to pay about 11 million bucks in restitution for embezzling millions of dollars from four of his clients. Remember, this is the guy who repped Stormy Daniels, the adult film star who alleged she had an affair with former President Trump years before he ran for office, an allegation he's always denied. He pleaded guilty earlier this year to four counts of wire fraud for each client he stole from. So the prison sentence that he's currently serving was given after he was convicted for attempting to extort millions of dollars from Nike. You remember that? And then he also stole at that time a $300,000 book advance from Stormy Daniels. So that's five years. After that, he's going to start the 14 years.

02:26:53 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 2:

He was a media darling, too. Like, they loved having him on TV. But it's interesting. Dan Abrams from ABC News said that if he gets 14 years for this, the guy with the goofy hair that stole all that crypto money, what's the hell's his name?

02:27:08 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 4:

Sam Bankman-Fried?

02:27:09 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 2:

They think Sam Bankman-Fried could get life for the amount of money that was stolen there because that was billions of dollars that was stolen.

02:27:16 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 1:

No, I rarely see people in white-collar crime get life.

02:27:19 - 02:27:28 | Speaker 2:

No, Madoff did. So Madoff went behind bars. I think the Madoff thing is, honestly, money-wise, not as bad as the crypto thing, right?

02:27:28 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, the victims are different. If you look at Madoff, it was all rich white people being stolen from the people. They both were, weren't they? Yeah, but with crypto, there was a little bit of a, it's not guaranteed money. It's not federally insured. It's not what the government wants going on because they want you to keep all your money in more legit sources that can be tracked in central sourcing, not, you know, decentralized like crypto is.

02:27:53 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys sleep with, Spike, I know you don't because you don't have a TV in your bedroom, but do you guys sleep with the TV on? You do. Yes. Well, ABC News chief medical correspondent, Dr. Jen Ashton says that is not good for you. Stop doing it.

02:28:07 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she's also the same one that works with those two cheaters. I don't trust her.

02:28:11 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 4:

She did Holmes and A.B. Rovac.

02:28:13 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 3:

Ambient light exposure while we're sleeping. Any lights left on? So many people fall asleep with the television on. That is horrible for your sleep quality. Not horrible. Because a study done earlier in the year which actually checked people's heart rates and their blood levels when they had any amount of ambient light exposure while they were sleeping, you guys, and they found differences. So the darkness matters. Oh, yeah. You know what else is bad for your sleep?

02:28:41 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 4:

What?

02:28:41 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 2:

Cheating with somebody else. That's right. It's not her.

02:28:44 - 02:28:46 | Speaker 4:

It's not her. It's her co-host. It was her co-host.

02:28:46 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 3:

I think with a take-home for people, if you are trying to improve your sleep quality, take a look around the light in your room with the lights off. And any little thing, whether it's from a thermostat, a nightlight, or whatever, if you can reduce it, reduce it.

02:29:01 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 2:

So you talked about that story earlier this morning, the Amy Brobach and TJ Holmes thing. I cannot believe they pulled them off the air.

02:29:09 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 4:

They did. Oh, yeah.

02:29:10 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 2:

And what could have been the best, it was like a media, like a...

02:29:15 - 02:29:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, everybody was watching. And remember, the ABC News Network president said, this is not a violation of company policy. We just need to figure out where to go with this. And you know who outed them, apparently? The rumor on the street is Lara Spencer.

02:29:30 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:29:31 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Lara Spencer was the one. I shouldn't say who outed them. Lara Spencer was the one that went to ABC president Kim Godwin and said, this makes me uncomfortable. We should really think about this.

02:29:41 - 02:29:42 | Speaker 2:

You know what's amazing?

02:29:43 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 4:

Supposedly.

02:29:43 - 02:29:44 | Speaker 2:

Hoda doesn't work at that network.

02:29:44 - 02:29:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, different network.

02:29:45 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 2:

It was Hoda. It was Hoda.

02:29:48 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 4:

She's at NBC. This is ABC, but Laura Spencer is word on the street.

02:29:53 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, usually you have to look at who can benefit from the leak. So that's how you find out who it was.

02:29:58 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, good point.

02:30:00 - 02:30:01 | Speaker 6:

Oh, good point.

02:30:01 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Are you going to leak anything, Megan?

02:30:02 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 6:

Was it Matt Lauer?

02:30:04 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 3:

No. No.

02:30:04 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 6:

Also different network.

02:30:07 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 3:

Can we trust Megan to not leak things from our show?

02:30:10 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 6:

Apparently, I don't even know where people will work, so yeah. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:30:18 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 1:

Let's go! Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30, and another world-famous phone scam is next.

02:30:25 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 3:

Isn't it amazing that Matt Lauer hasn't gotten a job after that, too? Like, I thought for sure that time would pass, and next thing you know, the guy would be on TV again.

02:30:32 - 02:30:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I wonder. Does he need it? Did he retire? Or has he been trying to get back on, and nobody will hire him?

02:30:37 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 3:

It's wild, yeah. So, Mojo in the morning show, Jingle Ball tonight. Excited for that. We've got a scam coming up here in a little bit. Today's Senseless Survey Day. We'll get to that in just a few moments. So, Mike is hanging out with the dad friends. the friends that are the dads of other kids that cecily is involved what is it what is cecily doing

02:31:02 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 5:

these days uh she has a a christmas concert coming up on the it's next monday for the school yeah yeah yeah so they do like this thing where like and i just found this out i found this out at her halloween parade that we went to so it was a couple months ago but they do um they do this thing where like i guess the dads just go out and go there's like a a restaurant right up the road from my daughter's school called the win and they go up there it's like a sports bar they go up there and they just have drinks and then they meet everybody else at the the christmas concert and they're like dude it's the same songs every single year and they just do it different and you you got obviously go it's it's an it's a great thing but we've done it for a few years now so we just have a few drinks before we go and they're like if you want to come you're more than welcome to join us and i'm like i don't know that i i mean i'm not shaming it at all but i don't know that i i it's a good move for me to go have some drinks and then go to my daughter's Christmas concert.

02:31:54 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man. You got to do that. Actually, I know parents that bring roadies with them. Oh, really? To their kids' holiday concerts. Who would do that? Yes. I was not looking over your way, but I was.

02:32:04 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 6:

I really haven't. It might be funny.

02:32:06 - 02:32:18 | Speaker 3:

But I really haven't. The one that says Shannon on that's right in front of you right now. Mike, you should go because you always complain that you don't really have guy friends. And this would be an opportunity for you to get some guy friends.

02:32:18 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 6:

Just have a beer or two. You don't need to be doing

02:32:20 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 5:

shots no right right right i yeah i just yeah i feel like uh i feel like that i you know if i do that then you know everybody's gonna look at me weird because nobody else is going like the moms don't go it's just the dads so i feel like i'm gonna sit down i'm gonna get the evil stare from ally or or like because i know we have other family going they're gonna be like oh he just

02:32:39 - 02:32:48 | Speaker 3:

strolled in from the bar well yeah that's the other thing too is you can't smell like the alcohol you gotta make sure you bring gum but uh the good thing is you have a designated driver now that Allie's pregnant.

02:32:48 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 4:

That is true. That's absolutely true.

02:32:51 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 3:

Do your parents do this? Like when Luke was doing baseball, that was a total drunk fest. When we would stay overnight at hotels or after tournaments and stuff, we would go meet at Buffalo Wild Wings. The parents would all have fun.

02:33:03 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's what I, and that's what I don't know is like I'm just kind of new to like some of this stuff. So I don't know what are the one, what are the things that you, you can drink before and what are the things that you shouldn't drink before?

02:33:11 - 02:33:52 | Speaker 6:

I remember when Luke, when I took the day off of work for which Mojo so graciously gives us every year And I think it is so important to do the first day of school. And when she was going into kindergarten, first grade, no, kindergarten at a new school, she was starting her new school. And some of the moms invited me out after the kids got on the bus. And I was like a blubbery mess. And then all the moms get together and go drink bottomless mimosas. OK, which is part sadness and part celebration. Yeah, it is. It's part sadness, part celebration. But quite honestly, and I really mean this, that is where I met two of my absolute best girlfriends that that day doing that after a loose, you know, I got loose off to kindergarten.

02:33:53 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 3:

And this is the thing, Mikey, I'd be careful of. Sometimes the parents forget that their kids need to come home from school. So you can't be at the bar the entire day, just like you can't be at the bar the entire night and miss the performance.

02:34:04 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 5:

Right. Right. Once Monday night football, too. So, I mean, oh, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding.

02:34:09 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 3:

Home of the World

02:35:00 - 02:35:02 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no, you stop talking, okay?

02:35:02 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:35:05 - 02:35:15 | Speaker 3:

It's time for an official government survey. And when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s***. It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey.

02:35:16 - 02:35:19 | Speaker 6:

Hello? Hello, how are you?

02:35:20 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 4:

What are you?

02:35:21 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 6:

Is your mom and your daddy home?

02:35:23 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my daddy's.

02:35:25 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 6:

All right, let me talk to him.

02:35:27 - 02:35:28 | Speaker 4:

My daddy?

02:35:29 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:35:29 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Wait for a minute.

02:35:31 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I will. Cutie pie. How do you feel about Eminem's plan to change his name to Skittles?

02:35:44 - 02:35:46 | Speaker 4:

Wait for a minute. Okay.

02:35:47 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 6:

Hello? Hello there. How are you? Yeah. Mr. Dabalina, I'm calling from the United States Census Bureau. Just wondering how many people live in your household?

02:35:55 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 4:

Six.

02:35:56 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Six? Six? And do you have any junk in your trunk? Can you tell me how to get to your house from here? Why is that? We'll come back to that question then. Would you buy a video game called C-section? No, alright. And do you know the Muffin Man?

02:36:16 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 4:

I don't know that.

02:36:17 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 6:

How much do you hate people who hate things?

02:36:20 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 4:

Sorry man, I don't have time to answer all the questions.

02:36:23 - 02:36:29 | Speaker 6:

Would you like to try and bounce a quarter off my ass? Can you put the little kid back on, please?

02:36:30 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 3:

I think I like the little kid better. Laugh all you want. We'll get to you eventually. It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:41 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 2:

W-K-Q-I-F-M-H-T-2-N-H-T-3 Detroit. W-S-N-X, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. W-V-K-S, Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:36:55 - 02:38:41 | Speaker 1:

this is really cool to see friends you know you you do a concert like we're doing jingle ball tonight you end up bumping into artists and record reps and people from our company that you haven't seen in a little bit and uh get a chance to kind of like for one night party it's like a big holiday party it's uh so much fun and uh tonight is our jingle ball tickets are still available there's just a little bit there's more so than anything anything there's uh some good seats that are still available i mean listen we know the economy is tough and uh and sometimes those real expensive seats kind of like uh take a little bit to to be sold but if you want to go to the concert and you want to get really up close and personal there's still a couple of those seats available ticketmaster.com so one of uh my longest friends that i've had in the business longest you know running friendships over the years has been this gentleman that is in studio with us this morning he is the reason why the backstreet boys are playing our jingle ball because i cried on the phone to him and said true story you really did i did didn't i yeah i got on the phone and what did i say emotional what did i say to you i've been asking for them i think you told me for 17 years i i or is that one of my best friends in the world is denise george yes and denise lives literally 500 feet from my house and i would beg her for things from the backstreet boys And no offense to Denise. I love her. She'd get me tickets to the show or whatever, but never got them to do a show for us, okay? Like a show for us. And JR, who worked for her and all those people that worked for them, yeah, every now and again, oh, well, we'll send you to Vegas and you can go see their show. I don't want to go to Vegas. I want to do a show here for Detroit. Lee Leipzner got it done. Lee Leipzner is in the studio with us this morning.

02:38:42 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Lee. Now, this is a guy.

02:38:44 - 02:38:53 | Speaker 6:

This guy has a history in the business He has a great personal story about Every single artist The greatest stories, he's going to tell all of them to us now

02:38:53 - 02:38:55 | Speaker 5:

Do you have 10 hours?

02:38:56 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 1:

Do you know who one of his best friends In the entire world is? The one and only Steven Tyler He's one of my dear, yes

02:39:03 - 02:39:25 | Speaker 5:

Because we met a long time ago I was at Columbia Records I grew up on Aerosmith And I just loved the band But I wasn't like, I'm not i just i was very he's so natural he's so kind he's a rock star but in a great way like to the fans and everybody and we just we just hit it off because i love the music i was in it for the he liked me because i was in it for the right reasons i think that's what it was can i tell

02:39:25 - 02:39:41 | Speaker 1:

you what lee i want to hear a story from lee on this one so back in the day you were there when mariah made that all i want for christmas is you right weren't you there i was there i mean was that did you ever think that that song was going to be the song of christmas so to speak i don't

02:39:41 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 5:

think you could ever i mean it was really good yeah you know for an original christmas song you knew it was but to be what it is now yeah it's and you never get tired of it i mean so so what

02:39:51 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

happens so so so way back when does does it come in like i know you're you're working for her guy and all that stuff Thank you.

02:40:00 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 5:

you know her guy her husband right or whatever yeah whatever he was but your work boss yeah the boss do they sit there and say hey we think we got something like does that what happens with

02:40:10 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 4:

i don't think tommy mottola ever said that we i think he says i know i know really a little different but uh yeah yeah it was pretty you know listen again you hear a song like that you know there's so much christmas stuff and you know there's some artists that never did a christmas record that you wish i think billy joel was one of them that everybody wished would have done a Christmas album. There's many artists that haven't, but when you heard that song, you're like, whoa, this was pretty eye-opening

02:40:33 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 5:

and so good. I never understood why people don't come up with more Halloween songs. You know? Thanksgiving.

02:40:39 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 4:

Thanksgiving. Easter's not like one. The master bash is good, but we need...

02:40:42 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 5:

Actually, can artists make a ton of money off of doing even just covered Christmas songs, or do they have to do something original?

02:40:48 - 02:41:24 | Speaker 4:

No, I think, you know, listen, they don't get, you know, obviously the publishing goes somewhere else because they didn't write it, but But, yeah, I mean, obviously a classic like that, you know, where the Backstreet Boys have Last Christmas. Yeah, tell us about that. Tell us about that song. You know, it was something, you know, they really, they were the ones who really orchestrated the songs that they wanted on the album and what was suited for them. And it was really them, you know, basically coming up with the, you know, two new songs and the rest were like, you know, classics, but ones that really fit who they are and made sense to them and were personal to them. And I think they nailed it

02:41:24 - 02:42:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they did a great job with that Because you can do that song I thought Taylor did a great job with that But I don't think hers is as good as Wham I think that the Backstreet Boys You know when I really started liking that song? When I saw the video When I watched the music Which is funny because nowadays Music videos don't mean as much as they did To all of us back when When you see a music video to that And you see the guys actually singing in a studio You're like, man, they're having fun Because that's a song Like those classic songs Like Last Christmas It's fun to sing in your car You know what I mean And it's going to be fun To see them sing that tonight

02:42:00 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 4:

That song It's timeless And it's really It was really sweet George Michael's family Tweeted out Friday Congratulating them On their number one success With the song That's so cool And they really gave them A big endorsement Which I think meant a lot To everybody Because you know I cried when George Michael died There was no better singer Than him But it's not just a song

02:42:20 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 3:

The boys are timeless too You know My girlfriend was looking at the video I took of Backstreet Boys at the iHeart Festival and realizing when you see them up close 20 years later, they look better now than they did when they were at their height. I don't know. It's not fair, but guys age. I know. I know how that feels. I'm the same way.

02:42:35 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 4:

But I will tell you, I think for the audiences, and I went this summer, and I've never seen more people at their show. I never saw them before. All my years of doing this.

02:42:45 - 02:42:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because they weren't with your record label, right?

02:42:47 - 02:42:58 | Speaker 4:

I know JR really well. He's a great guy and a good friend. and just over the years but um i gotta tell you like watching that audience they look good it makes the audience feel better about themselves about them you know about how they are and how

02:42:58 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 3:

they feel growing up well it puts you in a moment you remember when you were younger and you had

02:43:02 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 4:

less cares in the world there's some real i mean there's some there's some super fans there i'm like well really in their audiences time caps a little bit their audience looks good right because

02:43:11 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 5:

they were all very young at the time that that came out now they're we you know i heart crew

02:43:16 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 4:

there in new jersey and we all went with everybody and it was we were standing on the side like not in the stage but like you know in the venue and we're just watching it off yeah it's 20 000 people

02:43:26 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 1:

losing their minds to all these songs it's so crazy to think too because i was one of those like you know 10 year old girls that was begging my mom for tickets to go see them you would never think that when you're like you said mojo when you're all grown up and you're a mom and you've got kids that you're still going to be going to see them was that your group

02:43:43 - 02:43:45 | Speaker 4:

Who was your thing?

02:43:45 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, I'm going to be real. Hanson has always been the loves of my life, okay? But the Backstreet Boys is a close second. Is a second.

02:43:52 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:43:53 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 1:

I love my Hanson.

02:43:53 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 4:

You know, it's funny. A good friend of mine who's listening, Steve Greenberg, who manages AJR and runs his own label, S-Curve, he signed Hanson. No. He made him bop. That was his group, and he's terrific.

02:44:03 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 5:

Tell me about AJR, because that's your group, too. They're brothers, and they're like the nicest guys ever.

02:44:09 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 4:

They're really, they're not only nice, they're smart, they're clever. they're real and and you know for everybody who i don't like when people say you know well thank god for tiktok or thank god yeah all that matters they didn't break on tiktok yeah they were building a base 10 years ago yep you know really through a slog of like getting through this crazy business and they built it it's real it's authentic and i just love how clever they are and artistic they are and they're just always creating and yeah they are the nicest so fun the first time i ever saw

02:44:39 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 2:

them it was at a music festival i didn't know who they were and i walked up to a stranger in the crowd and i grabbed their arm i said who is this and they're like ajr immediately going to google

02:44:48 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 5:

they're so good yeah i thought you grabbed them i thought you grabbed them and said who are these

02:44:51 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 2:

guys i'm like wait a second that's gonna be me tonight running up so lee i i need to ask you

02:44:55 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 5:

this and yeah you may you may answer you may not answer

02:45:00 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to ask you the best and the worst. Who's the best artist, the worst artist? You probably won't answer the worst, so answer the two best artists that you've ever worked with in your career.

02:45:10 - 02:45:30 | Speaker 2:

I know this is going to sound – well, Stephen is definitely – Aerosmith is a group, but great. Yeah. How is he doing? I heard he's sick. Yeah, he just got under the weather. They canceled some shows. I think he's going to be fine. They're going to finish out their residency. I mean, for a guy who sounds as good as he does.

02:45:30 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 3:

He was so good with Eminem at the Hall of Fame. When they were doing Sing for the Moment, I'm not going to lie, I had chills that Eminem was able to bring him up there to do that with him. And I hear that Eminem and him had such a great time before and after that.

02:45:46 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he called me one day and he said, Hey, is Dolly Parton looking for me? I go, How do I know Dolly Parton? I go, I would hope so. Why would he think she was there? I got mixed up because it was Eminem and Dolly both at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and he got mixed up. Somebody had mentioned it. He thought I did. I did not, but I said, that's pretty damn cool. Are you doing something? He goes, yeah, Eminem wants to do something. I'm like, are you doing it? He goes, hell yeah, I'm doing it.

02:46:08 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 3:

It's great that he does that. Who's the other artist that's your favorite?

02:46:11 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 2:

You know, I got to tell you, I had a really good run with the One Direction guys. They were all great. Really? Cool. And everything you see about Harry, and I don't want to jump on, you know, what a great year, and he deserves all this. He is truly, they're all nice, every one of them. I work with Louie Thomas. But he's not David Bowie. Well, no one's David Bowie. They always say that he's David Bowie. No one's David Bowie. By the way, no one's David Bowie. He's given off those vibes, but you have to wait and see him build his whole career. I understand why people say that, because he's so unique, and he's just different. He's going to evolve. And musically, it's always going to be something new and fresh and great. But, you know, he is one of the nicest people. Everything you see, what you see is what you get.

02:46:50 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, to me, I haven't seen an artist in forever. And I know Taylor is huge. She's monster-sized huge. But I have not seen the pandemonium of somebody like how he has had this last year and a half or two years.

02:47:04 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 2:

Well, it's funny. The One Direction, when they came over the first time, when What Makes You Beautiful was out. That song, by the way, we walked by, I think, our chairman's office, a couple of us at Columbia, and we stopped. We interrupted the meeting. We're like, whatever that is, sign that record right now. It was that good. And I remember seeing them. And they were here opening up for Big Time Rush in Chicago. It was the first show they ever played here as a group. They're opening up the tour. And the Big Time Rush guys are great, too. I remember walking to the arena outside, and there were like 3,000 kids singing. It just came out, and they were singing every word, going over and over. Can you imagine? And they were just so – they were innocent. They were young, but they knew what they wanted. You knew they had something because the audience was getting really crazy during the set. It was very Beatles-esque, very Beatlemania kind of thing. Oh, yeah. But I will tell you, the funniest thing ever, and I still tell – I was with Louie Tomlinson a few weeks ago doing some promo. He's great. And I said, if you don't remember, when I met you guys, when we became close, they were in New York. And I said, where do you want me to take you to dinner? I'll take you anywhere you want to go. Let's just go to dinner. All the group.

02:48:07 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:48:08 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 2:

And we're like, anywhere you want. And, you know, New York, 10,000 restaurants. You want to, this is what they said. They're thinking about it. And they go, you know, yeah, we want to go somewhere. I go, great. Where are we going? I'm thinking Nobu, somewhere. Applebee's. Applebee's is legit I said is someone punking me And I said no guys Sarah said no we want to go to That's where they wanted to go In Times Square And I'm like The most overpriced Applebee's

02:48:33 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 1:

On the face of planet Earth

02:48:34 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 2:

I said my budget is so under now This is sick I just got three milkshakes And a couple hamburgers And I'm good And I told Louie

02:48:42 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny Is that you turn that in In an expense report They think that you took Your family 100% They don't believe They're like what's next Jack in the box So we're going to do something with Lee So Lee knows music But I'm going to do a special genre of music That we've never done in a throwback throwdown We're just going to do a special quick edition of throwback throwdown

02:49:00 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh I heard you're like insanely good

02:49:03 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 2:

Don't do this

02:49:04 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm putting the pressure on Because he's been talking about this to me all morning

02:49:07 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 2:

Well your program director Tony Travada Who's a great friend He did it at his office one day And I just started yelling out the names And he's like oh man you've got to go emojo I'm like I'm not that good

02:49:19 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 3:

All right, question for you. Is he the worst program director you've ever tried to get an ad from?

02:49:23 - 02:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, this is some good questions today. Yeah. Again, I need another 10 hours for that.

02:49:28 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 3:

Tony Tervato. My favorite is when a record person is here, you know Tony likes you if you actually are in his office because, you know what I mean, like you're in the office.

02:49:36 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 2:

For years, Mojo, I think I told you this on the phone. I think this is the first time I've ever been upstairs in this building. They used to make you meetings in the lobby before Tony got here.

02:49:45 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, listen, back in the day, remember?

02:49:47 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 2:

Hey, sorry, we can't let you up. I'm like, what am I, the most wonderful?

02:49:50 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Dom Theodore used to sneak out the back door. I remember that. I'd be like, Dom, why are you leaving out the back entrance? And he would be like, Lee Leipzner, sir. Yeah, I'm growing out a beard. I'm like, waiting for him.

02:50:00 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 1:

What's going on here, guys? All right, so here's what we're going to do. A special edition. Here we go.

02:50:04 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning.

02:50:05 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be all 80s, though. Okay. All right, so all 80s. Megan, I think you'll do okay.

02:50:11 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Oh, we're playing. It's not just Tim.

02:50:13 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 1:

No, you guys can play if you want to. Oh, okay. So here's the story. We're going to do, you do this title and artist of the song. Here's the good thing about the 80s. In the 80s, they didn't have 8,000 artists on songs. It wasn't featuring, you know, Little Baby and, you know, all the rest of them. Okay? So scream out your name when you know the answer, and then I will call upon you. You ready? Yeah. First song in the Lee Leipzner, Throw Back, Throw Down, all 80s edition, is...

02:50:53 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I know this song.

02:50:59 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 1:

It's an extended intro. Megan. Megan.

02:51:07 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 3:

Uh-huh, take on me?

02:51:08 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 1:

Yes, Megan. Wait, wait, Mojo. Wait, Mojo. Where did you get that intro? I know.

02:51:14 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 2:

That's not a radio version. He downloaded that somewhere. No kidding. Oh, my God. Can we play 80s with a regular throw?

02:51:19 - 02:51:21 | Speaker 1:

That was the album version.

02:51:21 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the album. My bad.

02:51:24 - 02:51:25 | Speaker 1:

There you go.

02:51:25 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 2:

All right, well, now you know how it works. You're heated now. You're ready to go. I'm ready to jump out at anything. Yeah.

02:51:29 - 02:51:33 | Speaker 1:

Nice job, my Megan. Oh, my God. Wow. There you go.

02:51:33 - 02:51:38 | Speaker 2:

Megan, who was born nine years after that song came out. 1992.

02:51:38 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 1:

All right, next song in the mojo in the morning, Lee Leipzner edition of the Throwback Throwdown is... Spike Lee. Oh, Spike.

02:51:48 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 2:

Dexys, Midnight Runners. Come on, Eileen.

02:51:50 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Yes, you got to. Yeah, absolutely. Congratulations. I like it.

02:51:54 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm over two.

02:51:57 - 02:51:58 | Speaker 3:

What was the dance?

02:51:58 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 2:

Midnight Runners, 1983.

02:52:01 - 02:52:02 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember the song, though, Shannon?

02:52:02 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

I remember the song. I just would never have gotten heard of it. Kevin Rowland.

02:52:05 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 2:

It's a great song. Lead singer. And there was no Eileen. They didn't know an Eileen. They had a different girlfriend's name.

02:52:13 - 02:52:15 | Speaker 1:

Wow, he's doing KCK something for us right now.

02:52:15 - 02:52:17 | Speaker 2:

His girlfriend's name didn't fit right in the song.

02:52:17 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 1:

So they used a different name. Oh, I swear what it is. At this moment, you did everything. All right. All right, there you go. Everybody, pipe down.

02:52:30 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 2:

Let me work this one. Okay, sorry.

02:52:31 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 1:

Let me try one.

02:52:32 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 2:

We'll sit back.

02:52:33 - 02:53:07 | Speaker 1:

Next song in the special edition of our throwback, throw down, 80s edition of songs is... Lee. Lee. Aerosmith, dude looks like a lady. Dude looks like a lady. There you go. Exactly. He's on the board. He's on the board. I had to throw one for him. I don't know. How many songs do you think this song is, or movies, this song, or TV shows? So many. Could they do this song nowadays, or would this song be not... It's a really interesting question.

02:53:07 - 02:53:27 | Speaker 2:

Probably better received now than ever. It was autobiographical. He wrote it about what people would say about him when he would walk in like truck stops on tour and stuff. Oh, really? Yeah, same as you'll hear the same theme in the second verse of Bob Seger turn the page when he was on the tour talking about these long-haired hippies

02:53:27 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 1:

Alright, we're done playing this thing

02:53:28 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 2:

Who thought this was a good idea? No, no, no, no

02:53:31 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 1:

We continue like this I'm gonna hear Wikipedia page live This is awesome Alright, next song Only a couple more left Here we go Lee Leifner in studio with us this morning Our good, good friend And we're playing a special 80's edition of the Throwback Throwdown And the song is Lee. I think that there was a Spike Whisperer, but maybe a Lee. I don't know. Spike Whisperer? I'll give it to Lee. Lee, Lee, Lee. Go ahead.

02:54:01 - 02:54:02 | Speaker 2:

You got Survivor? I have the tiger?

02:54:02 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah. There you go. Where are the girls at? Megan, you were off to a good start. I'll play an extended intro.

02:54:10 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:54:10 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 1:

Coming up later.

02:54:11 - 02:54:11 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

02:54:14 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:54:14 - 02:54:17 | Speaker 3:

I'm just shocked I got one of them. And it wasn't like Queen.

02:54:17 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 2:

Spike's doing push-ups right now All right, one last one

02:54:28 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 1:

One last one Here, let's see what we got here Give me some Queen You can't request this song

02:54:33 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's not fair Why not?

02:54:35 - 02:54:36 | Speaker 1:

All right, hold on

02:54:36 - 02:54:40 | Speaker 2:

Let me see Shannon would be doing Huey Lewis in the news Oh my God

02:54:40 - 02:54:44 | Speaker 3:

Okay, don't make fun of me Only concert I've ever been kicked out of by security

02:54:44 - 02:54:45 | Speaker 1:

And why were you kicked out?

02:54:45 - 02:54:56 | Speaker 3:

Because I rushed to the stage and tried to get a selfie with Huey. I was the youngest person at that venue by about 20 years. And I was the one that got escorted out.

02:54:57 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 2:

Huey Lewis got bum rushed. all right i'm keeping it only in the 80s right i'm only doing the 80s all right no next song no you can't do it now next song in our special edition of the throwback throwdown all 80s edition one day we should just go all 80s on the show can you imagine what our boss would do tony travato would rather play all of lee leipzner's new music than Then do that.

02:55:25 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 5:

By the way, Mojo, now that you said that, just do it. Please. Next song is...

02:55:33 - 02:55:33 | Unknown:

Spike.

02:55:34 - 02:55:36 | Speaker 5:

Spike. Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? I got it.

02:55:36 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 3:

I got the artist wrong. Oh, Sheila.

02:55:38 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 5:

No. No. No. Say your name. Phil Collins, Susudio. There you go.

02:55:46 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 4:

I saw you smoking. Susudio. By the way, great show. Dumbest name ever for a song.

02:55:56 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I didn't even know what it was about, but it was good. No one knew what it was about.

02:55:59 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's from the album No Jacket was part of 1986. The B-side was I Don't Care Anymore, which was later made into a single on its own.

02:56:07 - 02:56:10 | Speaker 5:

Lee, stop him. Lee, stop him. I don't think I can.

02:56:11 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 2:

Stop him, please. All right, Lee, hang out for a second. We're going to do trending news, and then we're going to get out of here for today.

02:56:15 - 02:56:15 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:56:16 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 2:

All right, by the way, big concert tonight. We're excited. Lee's in town. He brought the Backstreet Boys in with them. Backstreet Boys. They fly private? Do they do a private plane?

02:56:24 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 5:

I think on this run, they have so much to do. They have a three-week window to get it all done right now. It's a Christmas album. But I will say, Mojo, you and Tony Travato made this happen. Thank you. I will tell you. The torture that I got for four months. Well, it's because I told

02:56:38 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 2:

you. I said, here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to have Spike continue to tell you a bunch of 80s trivia if you don't

02:56:44 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 5:

play for us. I just found out everything I ever want to know about No Jacket Required. Oh, no. We have more.

02:56:48 - 02:57:29 | Speaker 2:

I'll tell you backstage tonight. All right. Here we go. Ready? We're going to start with this one. Have you guys already downloaded the app? Because everybody seems to do it. It's number one in the Apple App Store. Lenza AI has climbed to the number one spot on the charts. It's the magic avatar where your picture that you put in there turns into an avatar. You can actually turn it into kind of a classic photo. You could be, if you wanted to, an astronaut in the photo. There's all kinds of different looks. Interesting thing is it does cost, okay, to download the app. it doesn't but if you want to actually do any of the pictures it will cost you about 39 for like the first like i think it's like five or six of them that you want to do oh i thought there was

02:57:29 - 02:57:39 | Speaker 3:

a free trial for seven day free trial actually yeah seven day free trial so you have to have all your photos ready before you download it so that you can do all the photos and then get rid

02:57:39 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 2:

of the free trial before they charge you the lowest tier is three dollars 99 cents for 50 unique avatars but it's only on like four pictures that i was about to do it and then i had

02:57:48 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 3:

a reflection on the aging app we all so quickly downloaded i'm like have we learned nothing that we are so excited to see ourselves as a cartoon on instagram that we're going to give all our info to russian bots and give them our credit card info and everything you're kind of here's

02:58:05 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 2:

what experts are saying about this and you're right that's one of the big problems people are saying you're doing you're doing this is causing for security risks everybody's using their the

02:58:15 - 02:58:36 | Speaker 1:

AI-generated images from these in their social media apps, and it's just really taken off in the past couple of weeks. Yeah, and as far as those security risks? Anytime you're sharing your likeness online, that can be a security concern. If scammers, other criminals can use that information to create phishing campaigns against you or get you to do

02:58:36 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 3:

something unsafe online. Usually apps have to get approved and accredited by Apple, and you let them sit for a few months and get good ratings so you know it's not junk or fishing this one popped up so fast and so many people are using it because let's face it we all look way hotter as cartoons i was like i want to do it but i want i don't i'm gonna have my i know i'm curious too

02:58:54 - 02:59:46 | Speaker 2:

um they say if you do use it that you should put every single security precaution in place so that it doesn't permanently keep your photos or doesn't look at all your photos doesn't get access to all your photos. The IRS is reminding Americans that you have to report anything that is $600 or more on Venmo and PayPal. That is going to start after the first of the year. So the threshold for your 1099 form is going to be, will be lowered from $20,000 to $600. And they say that so many people are paying others this way and trying to get around yes uh the reporting factor um the real id has been now delayed again this was supposed to come out and then remember covet hit yeah your

02:59:46 - 02:59:51 | Speaker 3:

driver's license will have all that extra id for traveling so they can just swipe your license and

02:59:51 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 2:

it's almost for people that don't have passports dhs says that they're going to delay it now until 2025, May 7th of 2025.

03:00:00 - 03:00:29 | Speaker 3:

This was supposed to set to come out on May 3rd of next year, but they decided that they're going to delay it a little bit. I actually have it because they said you can go to and from Canada, and then I got it, got it officially in the mail, and COVID happened and you couldn't go to Canada. Same. A new social media trend has people in stores that are pushing around shopping carts freaked out. The trend is people are recording shoppers' reactions when they surround their cart.

03:00:30 - 03:00:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Yeah.

03:00:31 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 3:

Matter of fact, one particular store, I guess, in Oklahoma, a poor woman got so freaked out that she ended up falling to the ground and passed out when a whole bunch of what they call in this story pranksters videotaped her the whole time as people were surrounding her cart. Her car or her cart? Cart. Oh, her cart. Yeah, her cart. So people are going around the cart and they're kind of like taking pictures of themselves. That would freak me out.

03:00:57 - 03:00:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:00:57 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 3:

That would not happen at the store that I was at this past weekend shopping. There were no carts. But if you listen back to the podcast, you can see that. These next couple stories are great. To me, Chelsea laughed so hard when I told her this story. A criminal genius was arrested for shoplifting during what was called Shop with a Cop in Florida. 40 officers were inside of a Walmart when the shoplifting attempt took place. The guy didn't realize that he was there On the day that they were doing shop with a cop day To help out kids

03:01:33 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 2:

And a Georgia fugitive

03:01:37 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 3:

Arrested after Replying to a sheriff's department Most wanted Facebook post He said how about me Christopher Spalding was wanted For two felonies He right now is in trouble with the law Because what ended up happening was The sheriff's office saw With the post of here's the most wanted we want to find him and he said how about me and they went back and looked at the guy's info and found out that he was actually wanted by the cops so they ended up going in and arresting him and the final story uh a man dressed up as a grinch assaults a man in a reindeer costume at a company holiday party in west michigan wish there was a video of that i want to see that there's gotta be the fight happened between a 30 year old man dressed up as a Christmas character, like I said, and the fight ended up stopping the party. The police said that they believed that the incident was fueled by alcohol consumption. A shocker. You believe that?

03:02:35 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 4:

What?

03:02:36 - 03:02:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. All right, should we try one more?

03:02:38 - 03:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:02:38 - 03:02:39 | Speaker 3:

One more song here?

03:02:39 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 4:

Is it 80s still?

03:02:41 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you want to do 80s? Oh, we're back to the game? Yeah. Hold on. Lee, did you have fun, by the way, this morning coming in with us? Had a blast. Question for you. Of course. I'm sorry about my green shoe. Who treats you better, Elvis, Duran, or us? And you go in. I'm not answering these questions.

03:02:56 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 4:

He's pointing at Mojo right now in the studio. You can't see this.

03:03:00 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Didn't I offer you beverage and everything, too? I said, hey, would you like something from the minibar? Somehow I don't think you said minibar. No, I said water. I said water. And you said tap, and I said, I'm okay. We don't have the budget that other shows have.

03:03:15 - 03:03:17 | Speaker 1:

We got that Applebee's budget.

03:03:17 - 03:03:36 | Speaker 3:

You both are terrific. Thank you for having me on. Do me a favor. Have a conversation with Tom Pullman And tell him that we need a bigger budget on the show I will get right to that Are you looking for a song? Last song, I got a last song here Here's the last song Title and artist of this song, go Spike

03:03:36 - 03:03:40 | Speaker 4:
