beginning. This is it. All right, are you ready? You're listening to Mojo in the Morning. You're

00:02:32 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 2:

a doo-doo head. It's showtime!

00:02:57 - 00:03:27 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:03:27 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 6:

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful. Since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

00:03:43 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 2:

No, no, let it snow. What is going on out here today?

00:03:48 - 00:03:52 | Speaker 7:

Snow day. Get on out and do it and make some snow angels.

00:03:53 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 2:

Wow. It is nasty this morning. Good morning.

00:03:57 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

00:03:59 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

Those listening to us in Grand Rapids, you guys know this well because it's been going for a little bit. West Michigan has been getting crazy amounts of snow all night long. In the Detroit area, it is a winter weather advisory day today because your morning commute is going to be nasty. i would suggest you normally if you are 30 minutes 40 minutes of a drive i would suggest that you leave even earlier than you normally would i'd add 20 minutes or 30 minutes onto that it is pretty bad horrible i don't think i i don't think i went to speed limit let alone within 15 miles of the speed limit and be honest with you i drive the lodge nobody drives the speed limit i don't even know why they keep it at 55 miles an hour because literally i think the lowest i've ever seen anybody drive is like 75 or 80 it's a suggestion i was going 30 miles an hour oh i know that's crazy

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

75 southbound into the city which is what i take the entire way

00:05:00 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 1:

Most of my drive, I was between 25 and 30. It's nuts. It was really scary. And parts of the road are just completely white. Like, there aren't even tire tracks to follow in. It's still at that point in certain chunks of certain highways.

00:05:15 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

Rock and breaking storm cars. And on 75, on 75, coming up to Mac, shout out to the lady that I'm assuming has to be friends or family members of the two cars that are either getting a tire change or got in an accident. But get your car out of the driving lane and get over to the side of the road so I don't have to maneuver in between y'all.

00:05:38 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

She could have been one of the accident cars. It could have been pretty bad.

00:05:40 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Like, move your car over, though.

00:05:42 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 3:

I know, but I think that made it.

00:05:43 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 1:

She's going to get hit. You know what, though? She hasn't already. She's going to get hit. My drive wasn't bad.

00:05:47 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. By the way, if you don't think that this morning I called Paul Corvino, the guy that decided to move us to this new studio, who's now in sunny California, and woke his ass up at two o'clock in the morning uh yeah corvino home studio's coming soon guys i'm gonna be doing the uh covid i'm working from home please don't this is bad 844 mojo live 844 665-6548 lydia let's start off and ask if we can have people that checked in i know this means nothing to toledo i was talking to daniel just a second ago and daniel said that it uh what was This is the exact quote that he said. He said that in Toledo, Ohio right now, he says it's very cold and windy. No snow.

00:06:37 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I wonder where that stops because I have to go to Toledo today.

00:06:40 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

I think that, you know, we'll have to deal with this. It must be going up north, I guess, then, huh? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. We got good stuff for you to listen to this morning. Today here on the Mojo in the Morning Show, do we bust a cheater with the War of the Roses? This morning, a realtor that has a separate phone that his wife didn't even know about. And I'm talking about not just a work phone. He calls it a work phone. But he's got a phone that she doesn't even know what it's all about, and it's not the phone that he advertises for his real estate business. Is the guy cheating? We're going to find out. And then we got a bunch of good stuff to give away. Kenrick Lamar and SZA tickets coming up this hour.

00:07:27 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

Mustard!

00:07:29 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 3:

A trip to Florida at 7.30. So we got that coming up at 7.30. And then Tate McCray tickets at 8.30 and 9.30 Post Malone and Jelly Roll tickets. Are we getting no phone calls, Lydia? Or am I on the wrong phone screen again?

00:07:45 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 5:

No, we're just getting our first ring of the day right now.

00:07:47 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. All right, first ring of the day. Hello, good morning. Mojo in the Morning. Who's this?

00:07:52 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 7:

Hi, this is Jenny.

00:07:54 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 3:

Jenny, where are you?

00:07:56 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 7:

I am back east 4 and almost 12th mile. And I've really hit no ice yet.

00:08:03 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 3:

No ice, no snow. You must be coming from Toledo, huh? From Ohio?

00:08:08 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 7:

No, I'm going westbound. I'm coming from Macomb.

00:08:11 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 3:

Are you serious? Oh, so east side. Wait a second. Lydia, you drove in from that area. Was Macomb bad?

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Macomb was terrible. Hall Road.

00:08:18 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 3:

How are you not getting any snow?

00:08:21 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea, but I was going 54 down hall, and I'm going 62 right now. Well, you're going to be doing a slip and slide. Dude, I was at 25.

00:08:29 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's craziness, though. It's wild because it seems like I'm looking at the radar right now. It's, like, vast. It's widespread how much things are bad. Sean, how's it where you are, buddy?

00:08:42 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I'm on 8 Mile about to get on the lodge. Yeah. To get to work, man, it is, it is terrible out here. I can't even do over 30 miles an hour, bro.

00:08:55 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 3:

It's craziness. Listen, I'm going to be quite honest with you. I haven't seen this much white stuff. I'm going to use the bosses. No, on 8 Mile, since I was hanging out at, what was that strip club called that used to be over there? Was it, what was the one that used to be? The one that got shut down? All Stars? No, which strip club was it that got shut down for backroom business?

00:09:21 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 4:

I think it was All-Stars. I don't know, but I'm not really a strip club goer. Neither am I.

00:09:27 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

I just heard about it.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 4:

I hope Chelsea don't get mad at you talking about strip clubs, man.

00:09:32 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

I read a report on it in the news, in the free press or something like that. Thanks, Sean. What's going on, Michelle? What's up, Michelle?

00:09:43 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 6:

Bye.

00:09:44 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey.

00:09:44 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 6:

First time, long time. I just wanted to call regarding the roads.

00:09:55 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

So I live in Shelby Township. It's all there.

00:10:00 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 5:

It was clear and beautiful, and then I actually work here at UWM, so I'm in Pontiac now, and it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The roads are pretty good.

00:10:12 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. So maybe it's coming towards you because I live right down the street in West Bloomfield, Kego Harbor area, and we were getting some bad snow when I was leaving this morning at 5 o'clock-ish. It was pretty rough.

00:10:25 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I heard. I heard my mother-in-law actually works downtown at DMC, and she said it's pretty bad down there, but thank God over here, it's not as bad right now.

00:10:34 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, be safe over there. And how great was that holiday party that you guys had? I heard that that thing was off the hook.

00:10:42 - 00:10:43 | Speaker 4:

Pitbull, Pitbull showed up.

00:10:43 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 2:

I know, that's so crazy. Mr. 305 hanging out in the 248. It's pretty crazy. That mad Ishbia, man, that guy's got some bucks. What's up, Charlie? How you doing?

00:10:52 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Thanks.

00:10:54 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning. How are you guys?

00:10:56 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 2:

Good, man. What's going on?

00:10:57 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 3:

so i always take 96 on my way to work i live in levonia and i gotta get down to dearborn roads looked okay and everything but man big traffic jam right now 96 i've already seen like three spin outs and one guy go up the hill on the exit trying to hit his brake and then comes sliding across right behind me thank god he completely missed me wow i'm gonna make the work on time wow yeah you got looks like i'm pissed off i'm passing off oh that's what happened i just got to roll out or something oh geez yeah yeah i'm just passing off i'm just passing up

00:11:35 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 2:

where the cops are right now well you got it you got to be careful make sure that you keep it safe keep your speeds down don't try to be crazy especially if you're in a truck and in and stay away from the plow guys i i didn't know this but this year it just went into effect in 2024 Before, there's like, it's the same as getting into an accident or speeding through the construction zones with the plow trucks. You know, you got to stay away, give them some space.

00:12:00 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 3:

I looked at my one back in the day. I know I learned my lesson with the plow, guys.

00:12:03 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they take you with them. So, Melissa, what's going on?

00:12:08 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 4:

Hey, how are you guys? You know what, Melissa? First time, long time. Hey there. Hey, Melissa on the phone.

00:12:14 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 2:

Melissa, you asked the question, how are we? We are stressed. We are stressed.

00:12:21 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Yes, 94 coming from Chesterfield. I'm going westbound. It was great. But as soon as I made that turn out of 696, it was like entering a whole new world. I mean, you can barely even see little tracks. I'm going 30 miles an hour. People are flying by me like it's 70 and sunny.

00:12:43 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

It is wild, isn't it? You know what it is, though? the first big snow of the year like the first big storms that you get you forget what it's all about like you you you realize oh this is fine i've been dealing with this for a little bit this is normal i can deal with it and then you you know did one spin out and then you're in trouble but it's just

00:13:01 - 00:13:10 | Speaker 1:

the extremes it's either people driving 10 miles an hour and you're going to slam into the back of them or 100 miles an hour and they are spinning out and being dangerous well the guy that i always

00:13:10 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 2:

fear is the guy who is the 10 mile an hour driver with the hazard lights on and i'm thinking is it because his car is bad or is because he's a bad driver and then i'm thinking it's probably a little bit of both at that time so all right well this weather is going to be going on for such a i guess a good period of time throughout the morning and uh we will keep you up to date on how things are so definitely definitely do be safe and uh shout out to everybody in toledo travel toledo they they need to have like some kind of a thing we get no snow uh on december the Yeah, the 12th, 2024. I always love when we're on in different areas and we'll get calls from people that are in Florida. And I'm getting a text right now. This is a person right now. Love listening to you guys. Picked you up on the iHeartRadio app. I am getting ready to leave for work. I live in West Palm Beach, Florida. And I just want to let you know there's no snow here.

00:14:01 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:14:02 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 2:

Go after some.

00:14:02 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

Screw you.

00:14:07 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 3:

00:16:14 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 3:

My dad has crying as a dad whose son just told him, like, I don't want to be in your life anymore.

00:16:19 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 2:

By the way.

00:16:20 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 4:

I never knew where this was from.

00:16:22 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 2:

I always thought it was from like a Will Ferrell movie or something. Tyler Perry's Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Was the big movie

00:16:30 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 1:

This is Vera Wang Who that is She doing ass I need to get my nails Y'all seen this movie That's it I'm calling the police Are you getting no po-po Call the po-po

Awesome. Thank you.

00:17:23 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 2:

Tickets available at Ticketmaster.com. Where are you calling us from?

00:17:27 - 00:17:28 | Speaker 1:

Allen Burke.

00:17:28 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate you listening, man. Have a great morning.

00:17:31 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

00:17:32 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to give away some tickets. See Kendrick and SZA.

00:17:37 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 3:

Mustard!

00:17:39 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 2:

Kendrick Lamar and SZA at Ford Field, June 10th. Tickets available. There are just some tickets available, a few tickets available. Go to Ticketmaster.com and get them or text the word GRAND, G-R-A-N-D, right now to 95500. Be safe when you're doing this. Standard text and data rates do apply for a chance to win those tickets. Text GRAND for a chance to win. We're giving you a trip to Florida. We're going to do that at 730, so we kind of mixed up some prizes a little bit. And then, Lydia, I think that we got to talk about this Lions ticket giveaway, too, because I just saw again that this game is the spotlight game for the NFL. It's going to be a 4.30 game that is going to be kicking off at Ford Field on Sunday. We're going to give you a chance to win a $1,000 StubHub gift card. And do you guys think, should we vote on this? We'll vote today right now. Do we do it today or do we do it tomorrow? And the only reason I say this is somebody was telling me the month of December, a lot of companies are giving everybody Fridays off. And I'm a little worried that we have more listeners today than we will tomorrow.

00:18:48 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 3:

How do we get that? Exactly. I feel like with all the snow and all the stress, let's bless somebody today.

00:18:54 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 2:

That would be kind of cool. So let's put it out there. We'll do a little vote. You know, you can either text us or call us and tell us if you want to have us do it today or tomorrow. Although, if I worked Friday, I'd probably say tomorrow because I'd get more of a chance to win that. Shannon's got the Dirty on 30. Big news. Big engagement news.

00:19:12 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are engaged. And I woke up this morning and I was getting ready and I saw it on my Instagram in the bathroom and I screamed. And Wes was like, what happened? I was like, oh, Selena Gomez is engaged. And he's like, I'm going back to bed. They're so cute. She captioned some photos showing off her huge marquee diamond ring forever. Instagram? Begins now. Yeah. And then he commented on her post, hey, wait, that's my wife. And the celebrity comments and reactions are incredible in this post. So do yourself a favor and go over there. Taylor Swift offered to be the flower girl. Jennifer Aniston was like freaking out. But they've been dating for a little over a year. So big, big congrats to them. Yeah, big, big ring. Megan's looking at it now. I love that. It's pretty. Not a huge fan of the band. But I like the.

00:20:00 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 3:

diamond. Same. Those are my exacts. Way to go, Benny. That guest list for the wedding is going

00:20:05 - 00:20:43 | Speaker 4:

to be incredible. Do you think this is going to be like the biggest celebrity wedding in a long time? I have a feeling that they're not going to have an actual wedding, that they'll just elope and do their own thing and be quiet about it. I don't know. We'll see. I feel like a big wedding. Cardi B was the victim of a prank back in October when somebody anonymously called CPS claiming that she and Offset were abusing their kids. You guys remember this? And she was on instagram live just all up in arms about it well cps won't let down they apparently have continued their investigation into cardi and her family and now she's mad you keep harassing me and there's

00:20:43 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 1:

actual kids out there that is getting abused there's actual kids out there they're getting their ass beat i never none of my kids have ever got touched none of my kids ever got a little pow pow a little whooping a little nothing none of that and you are here harassing makes a lot of

00:20:57 - 00:21:41 | Speaker 4:

sense. My kids live like kings and queens. Yeah, she's like, enough is enough is enough already. And she said she's willing to go to whatever lengths it takes to legally end this investigation, even if it means, A, exposing the CPS agent's information that is doing this to her, or writing a five-figure check to her attorneys and letting them figure it out. Forbes released its list of the most powerful women, Taylor Swift, ranking 23rd on that list. But number one in the media and entertainment category, her wealth largely built from her song royalties and obviously the Heiress tour helped her out just a little bit this year. Oprah and Beyonce holding the 33rd and 35th spots on that list, respectively.

00:21:42 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 3:

Where does Megan Mick come in?

00:21:43 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, 8,500. I haven't seen your name, but I'll keep scrolling. Do you know who was number one? Keep scrolling. Just overall? No, but I'll find out for you. I'm so curious because there's got to be like a business CEO or somebody. I'll report back to you. And listen to this crazy story. A new lawsuit alleges that a grandmother died after she was pinned against a wall for two days by her sleep number bed. Oh, my God. Rosalind Walker is from Godfrey, Illinois. She was left trapped between the bed and the wall of her bedroom after the bed lowered itself without warning. Two days later, emergency responders managed to free the 80-year-old. She was taken to the hospital, but she passed away and she suffered the entire time she was fighting for her life. So this lawsuit seeking compensation for her suffering, as well as medical bills in excess of $25,000. Wow.

00:22:35 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 3:

That we did a scam, a phone scam. Remember? Trapped in the, uh, in the bed back in the day.

00:22:39 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 4:

They're basically saying sleep number designed and sold a bed that didn't have adequate instructions or any sort of cautionary language. And then this happened.

00:22:47 - 00:22:58 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys know of purple mattresses at all? Yeah. Purple mattresses, when they come, they're all sealed up in this big roll. And you undo them, and they... Don't do it in a room that's too small.

00:22:59 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 4:

Smith randomly wants one for Christmas. I think he saw the store at the mall, and now he's obsessed.

00:23:04 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's cool.

00:23:05 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 4:

And he does need a new mattress. Are those worth it? You said she was pinned to the wall? Yes. She somehow got caught in between the bed and the wall right next to the bed.

00:23:17 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 3:

How much you went to bed before it happened? somebody that was like, sleep tight.

00:23:22 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 4:

Kevin Irwin. She died.

00:23:25 - 00:23:41 | Speaker 3:

Callie, you there? No Santa for you. Lions tickets today or tomorrow? Today. Today. You sound like the old Summit Place Kia commercials. Today. All right, today. Your reasoning today?

00:23:43 - 00:23:47 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I just woke up and started listening and heard it.

00:23:47 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay, just want to have them today. All right, let's see what Jay says. Jay, what do you think? Today, tomorrow?

00:23:53 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm saying Friday. That way, when you give away the Florida tickets, that's like a double whammy right there.

00:23:59 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 3:

Those are two huge prizes to give away on one day. Okay, all right. Not a bad idea. All right, that would be a big Friday.

00:24:04 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 2:

You'll know who the real listeners are, too.

00:24:06 - 00:24:17 | Speaker 3:

Well, the other thing, too, is it gives us a day to promote it, which means it would be badass to get some people having to listen to us on Friday. Okay, we're going to continue this up, and we'll make an announcement coming up this morning, all right? All right, Shannon, wrap it up.

00:24:17 - 00:24:21 | Speaker 4:

00:30:02 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 6:

Enjoy. Red Robin gift card.

00:30:05 - 00:30:08 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the mornings. Five is 6.55. Five, five.

00:30:08 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 6:

All right, we got to come up with a decision here soon.

00:30:11 - 00:30:40 | Speaker 5:

All right, good morning, fans. Wake up, grab your coffee, and let's get ready to do what we do. Come on. Forward down the field. A charging team that will not yield. And with the blue and silver wave. Let's go. Stand and chill the brave. Raw, raw, raw. Go hard, win the game. With honor, you will keep your fame. Tell the field again, Alliance Vitares. Go!

00:30:43 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 6:

That was yesterday morning. Theo hanging out with us here on the show. Brian, what do you think? What should we do? I think you need to do it today. You think so? Yeah, Brian. You want to do it today? Do it today. All right. Okay, well, today is going to be the day then we do it today. What do you guys think? Should we do it today? I'm all for today. We're doing it today. You think we should do it tomorrow? I'll do it today. Why do you think we should do it today?

00:31:11 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 3:

No, not tomorrow.

00:31:12 - 00:31:15 | Speaker 6:

Megan, why tomorrow? Megan, explain to him why not.

00:31:15 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I just think that we've always done it the day before the game or the day of the game if it's a weekday game. So people are probably used to that.

00:31:23 - 00:31:23 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:31:24 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 1:

Consistency. Or if we're all we're changing.

00:31:25 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, for you, nothing's wrong Hey, say Lightning McQueen one time

00:31:31 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 6:

Please Come on, Brian Say what? Say Lightning McQueen Lightning McQueen I'm Tom Mater I agree with Megan Megan actually kind of changed me a little bit on that one She is right, we have always done it the same way And it would be like us not doing The War of the Roses next You know what I mean? If that is true, then I'll side with the side of consistency. But I'm not sure that's 100% true. I think we've always done it.

00:32:00 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 1:

I'm still not siding because 2024 has been weird all year. That's fair. I love this guy.

00:32:08 - 00:33:21 | Speaker 6:

And I will say this, that the greatest part of doing this contest is it draws excitement and the clients get excited over the deal. You know what I mean? So are we taking away the love that we have for Papa Romano's and Zot Ford? How could we do such a thing? Although, you know what? We give them a lot of love, though. I don't know. I mean, should we flip a coin? Should we do a real NFL? All right. Let's do the flip of the coin. Somebody find a coin, and this hour we're going to do it, because I don't have any coins in my pocket. WKQI Detroit. WSX. Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Here's the deal, Lydia. Have Brian be our guy that calls heads or tails on this one. All right, so this hour, after the War of the Roses. All right, perfect. After War of the Roses, Brian's going to call it heads or tails, just like what would happen at the beginning of a game, decide who's going to be getting the ball first, and then that's how we'll decide when we're going to be doing this, whether it be today or tomorrow, okay? We'll do that coming up right after War of the Roses here on the Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:33:22 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:33:28 - 00:33:28 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Layla.

00:33:29 - 00:33:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:33:31 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 6:

So tell us why you think he's cheating on you.

00:33:35 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay. He's a realtor, and he has a second phone. and um it's like a car phone what he calls it and we get in fights about paying for it because he says it's for work but work isn't paying for it and we can't really afford it and this phone

00:33:57 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 6:

is a phone that he just uses in his car so he keeps in his car and uses in his car so work yes but work doesn't pay for it correct but does he then have another phone that he uses and talks to people um about uh work and houses or whatever he does real estate wise

00:34:19 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 1:

i mean he has his like his regular phone that he's had forever and then there's just this other one that like he won't give me the password to it because it's got the sensitive company information on it oh that's my first red flag because i feel

00:34:35 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 4:

bad when i bought a house i was texting my realtor like all of the time right weekends late at night whatever so i kind of understand the wanting the separation so you can like shut down at night

00:34:44 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 6:

but then not having a access to it sketchy i i you know i know a lot of uh real estate guys in in women that i they they're kind of work on their own like they don't really work for anybody other than themselves like they kind of sell them

00:35:00 - 00:35:03 | Speaker 2:

themselves so i think it's kind of interesting also that he's saying that this is the company's

00:35:03 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 5:

phone yeah but the company's not paying for it so that's where it's okay like weird right right

00:35:11 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 2:

but you guys are you guys are paying for it but he's got stuff all right so you started getting suspicious because of that but then there's other things that have made you suspicious too

00:35:20 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 5:

yeah it's just i don't know i just it just there's something off and i i mean i did finally get get the phone number from him for the second phone. Like at first he wasn't even going to give me that. What did you do

00:35:35 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 2:

to get the phone number?

00:35:37 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 5:

I was in the car one time and it just, he must have used it because it was unlocked and I called my own phone from it.

00:35:45 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:35:46 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 5:

So I would be able to save that number.

00:35:49 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 2:

So you want us to call up and do one of the War of the Roses where we have KP, who's a member of our show, call him up just to see what he is like when he's talking to her on the phone correct and he's your husband yeah we've been married 12 years you guys have kids yeah wow all right we're gonna make the phone call and call him up and see what he acts like when we are dialing him and see if there's anything suspicious about it. Hang on the phone. Mute your phone. Okay. Okay.

00:36:33 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 4:

Hello. Hi.

00:36:36 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 3:

Is this Scott?

00:36:38 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 4:

Speaking.

00:36:40 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey. I found your, I had a friend give me your number. I'm looking to rent a house. oh great um uh what are you looking for um well i'm not looking for an apartment i'm probably looking for for a house um but i do have questions about utilities and stuff there's there is one that i found on realtor.com that has what i'm looking for i just didn't know are you guys doing snow removal or is that something i'm gonna have to do

00:37:16 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 4:

um yeah yeah uh well let me let me ask uh let me ask him about that but the couple who owns this

00:37:26 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 3:

house are their first time renters so okay yeah i get that i can be patient if you want to get back

00:37:34 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 4:

to me and actually i'm not sure how you got this this number i don't usually give this number out um can you call me at this one instead um before a

00:37:51 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 3:

yeah i can do that i'm sorry i didn't know that that uh that that was that's awkward i'm sorry

00:37:58 - 00:38:12 | Speaker 4:

no it's good it's all right okay cool sure i can call you um are you from where are you moving from yeah i'm from

00:38:13 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm just moving for work.

00:38:17 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, cool. Just you or you got a boyfriend?

00:38:22 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 3:

No, just me. I might get some roommates.

00:38:26 - 00:38:29 | Speaker 4:

Cool. Love roommate life.

00:38:30 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 3:

Living the dream.

00:38:33 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 2:

Why do you care about that? Hello? Scott, why do you care about her personal situation? If she's calling you just to get information about renting from you.

00:38:49 - 00:38:49 | Speaker 4:

Who is this?

00:38:50 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 2:

Scott, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And your wife, Layla, contacted us because she was worried that you're cheating on her with a secret phone. Scott? Scott, are you there? Did he hang up the phone? His line looks like it's still on. No, it's not. Layla?

00:39:31 - 00:39:32 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:39:33 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he started off like he seemed very helpful, and then he got to a point where, I don't know if you'd call that being ultra nosy or if he was trying to gather information.

00:39:47 - 00:39:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm still just confused on the phone number because if you said that this is the number that he uses for quote-unquote work, but he told KP something totally the opposite.

00:39:56 - 00:39:57 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:39:57 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

That doesn't make sense to me.

00:39:59 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 3:

How many phones do you have? What do you think he has? I just, I don't, I truly don't know what's going on right now. And I'm just, I'm almost even more confused than I was when I called you guys this morning.

00:40:08 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 4:

Is there anybody that's listening that's in this business that can tell us is that common? Just like, do you need multiple phones and do you need to be secretive with your phone number and have another phone? It doesn't sound right.

00:40:22 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 1:

Do we think he has just two or could there be more? I don't know. I don't know. But the part about him wanting to know my personal life, I can understand if he's asking me about bedrooms and, like, how many I need. But to ask, like, who is going to be in it, I feel like it's too far.

00:40:39 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 4:

And personal, like, personal stuff. Yeah. Not just roommates. All right. Hang on one second, Layla.

00:40:47 - 00:40:48 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:40:48 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of War of the Roses.

00:40:50 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 4:

I absolutely love it. Mojo in the Morning. Don't miss this. On Mojo in the Morning. When we come back here next, we'll take some calls. One of the calls, though, I think that we should get are people who busted their spouse cheating because they had the secret phone. And how did you find them with that? Call us up now.

00:41:12 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 2:

Join the discussion now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:41:19 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:41:27 - 00:42:08 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning show were the roses busting a cheater and a realtor who cheating on his wife and kids this morning talking to our kp i'd love to know about the whole separate phone thing but i also want to know too are there any listeners that ever busted their significant other boyfriend girlfriend husband wife cheating because they had a mystery phone what's up and how you doing good good how are you good a little bit of a defense for this guy what do you think he could

00:42:08 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 3:

be using this phone for so yeah a little bit um i'm in the mortgage industry and um i keep a separate phone because you do receive personal information, social security numbers, things of that nature. And you do want to keep it separate, right? I do keep buying in my car because I don't want to be bothered after hours for that very reason. The other thing is, if he's a realtor working for himself, the phone is written off as an expense on taxes. So the company may not own it,

00:42:40 - 00:42:58 | Speaker 4:

but it's an expense to his business. Let me ask this question, though. If he's using that phone, and it's a separate phone, but it's not the phone that she knows how he's getting customers by. Doesn't that seem a little suspicious? So you're advertising your business on another phone?

00:43:00 - 00:43:04 | Speaker 3:

That part does slightly, yeah. But it sounds like there's a third phone number possibly.

00:43:04 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's the parts that I'm wondering about on this one here. Is there actually more than just the two phones? Maggie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

00:43:13 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey. I've been a licensed realtor since 1995, and I've only had one phone. The realtor broker who your license is under, they have an office phone, so they can call that number, and then they can connect to your cell phone number. You don't have to pay for two phones.

00:43:32 - 00:43:39 | Speaker 4:

So you think this is all a bunch of crap? This guy is definitely using that phone for what he sounded like he was doing with KP.

00:43:40 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because even your phone number is on your own website, on the Internet, if people want to call you.

00:43:47 - 00:43:53 | Speaker 4:

I mean, maybe things have changed since 95. But no, but are you currently doing it?

00:43:53 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm still a licensed realtor with Real Estate One. Most of the people in my office have one phone.

00:43:59 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, so she's saying that she's a veteran. She's the OG of realtors.

00:44:04 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 2:

You just said most. Are there people there who have two phones? Not that I know of because basically you have two phones with the office phone calling the main number. They can then connect you straight from the office number to your cell phone.

00:44:20 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 4:

All right. Where are you practicing? Where do you do your business?

00:44:25 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

Wayne and Oakland County.

00:44:27 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 4:

And do you have your picture on your for sale signs?

00:44:31 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:44:32 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 4:

I love when people have them and they look like glamour shots.

00:44:35 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, sometimes they do, but you know, everything's changed in real estate right now. It's all about you selling yourself. It's really your name and your reputation in the business. You can have a picture out there, but they really go on what your integrity is like in this business.

00:44:52 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 4:

Maggie is who you want, by the way, if you're looking to buy a house right there. Move with Maggie. Move with Maggie.

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I love you guys.

00:45:00 - 00:45:06 | Speaker 1:

fantastic you make my day thank you we love you too uh let's go to Whitney here hi Whitney

00:45:06 - 00:45:44 | Speaker 3:

good morning good morning um I was just gonna kind of piggyback off actually kind of what Maggie said but see I work for our private real estate company and in my real estate company they give us a phone and a laptop so for him to say that it's a company phone but he pays for it that's weird doesn't make sense especially even yeah well even when he said oh i don't give out this number i i thought that was weird as well because this is your business phone that's the only number i give out i even have business cards with the number on it so how is that your business phone

00:45:44 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 5:

but you don't give it out i think we can all agree he is absolutely shady yeah yeah that's

00:45:49 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 3:

my problem with this situation i've definitely been in a situation with a guy that was a barber and he claimed he had a different phone for that reason because he was a barber, and I found out that it was his own personal phone for a whole separate baby mama. Oh, geez. It is definitely possible.

00:46:09 - 00:46:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man, that's crazy. George, what's going on? Hi, buddy.

00:46:13 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 2:

Hey, buddy. Point blank, he told his wife it's a business phone. He just told KP, hey, I don't get this number. How'd you get this number? Right. I mean, that was... You call him right out, Mojo, and I love you for that. You call him right out, you just spoke right up like, hey, why do you care if she's single or not? Like, he write it on himself, the whole thing. And all my friends are realtors, they all got one phone, and boyfriends and husbands look at their phone with no problem. He's a rat. She needs to be out of denial, divorce him right away.

00:46:50 - 00:47:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. Thank you for the call, man. I appreciate it. We got some people who busted a boyfriend or girlfriend or a husband or wife by having a mystery phone. Jacqueline.

00:47:01 - 00:47:03 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, y'all. Good morning.

00:47:03 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's happening?

00:47:06 - 00:47:41 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, I was on a family vacation in Florida and we were in a condo and I went, he was sleeping in a different room. So I don't know. I went in for something to see when we're leaving. I look on the dresser, there's a phone. I'm like, that don't look like his phone. So I pick it up. He jumped out of the bed, snatched it out of my hand, went running out of the condo. I go chasing him around. He throws it in the garbage can. I mean, you know something's up with that. Make it more obvious, buddy. All I can say about War of the Roses today is cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. What a cheater. What a cheater.

00:47:41 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

00:47:42 - 00:47:43 | Speaker 5:

All day long.

00:47:43 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 1:

Bye, Jacqueline. Take care of yourself.

00:47:45 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 5:

That's so funny. The garbage can. Like, that's going to help.

00:47:48 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 4:

uh pam what's going on uh i had a husband use the uaw strike as a cover for cheating he i went to go pay our cell phone or our credit card bill and there was a purchase for a track phone like a prepaid phone and uh i questioned him about it and all the extra shifts and it took it took a minute and me reaching out to the phone number that I found on it and found out he was cheating

00:48:22 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 1:

with a co-worker oh my god man well that's uh that's too bad I'm sorry that you had to deal

00:48:28 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 4:

with that all those extra shifts you know hey maybe I can get a little extra money

00:48:34 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

yeah that's true I like your attitude make sure he gives you your piece uh thank you for the call appreciate it a lot of people say that they know and we bleeped out the area of town that this guy was uh in because i made sure that you know wanted to keep especially layla's privacy but a lot of people know who this guy is you know realtors are they all know each other you ever notice a small world yeah and they all are uh are very very uh good at making sure that they let everybody know who they are and where they are, and they can sell your home and stuff. This guy obviously let too many people know.

00:49:15 - 00:49:19 | Speaker 2:

If you like this weather, come on over here so I can give you a face wash.

00:49:19 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

You'll win a $50 cash card, and you will qualify for that trip. Next hour, Tate McRae tickets.

00:50:06 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:50:09 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 4:

Shannon with what's trending this morning and the Dirty on the 30. What's going on, Shannon?

00:50:13 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 2:

The University of North Carolina announced last night that it has hired Bill Belichick, winner of six Super Bowls during his NFL career, to be its next head football coach. This is Adam Schefter.

00:50:26 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Bill Belichick is finalizing a deal to become that next head coach at North Carolina. He now will be affectionately known as Chapel Bill. He is leaving the NFL where he was victories away from becoming the all-time NFL winningest coach to go to college, to Chapel Hill, to take on a new challenge.

00:50:49 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 2:

This will be the very first college job for 72-year-old Belichick, who is out of coaching the season after splitting from the Patriots. By the way, his dad, Steve, was a Tar Heels assistant coach way back in the 1950s. I don't have any financial terms of the contract. I don't know if you know more than I do, but it's a five-year deal. Five years, right?

00:51:08 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 4:

I heard they said that he wrote his own contract. He wrote them a 500-page manifesto. I don't know if they call it manifesto. I think that I just heard that word in the news because of that guy from United. 500 pages, and it told him everything that he wanted to do, including all the coaches he was going to hire as assistants, what plays he was going to run, and how he was going to do his offense, how he was going to train these players to become NFL superstars. And then he also said, this is one of the things that's in there, he said that his son has to be the next coach at UNC. So he guaranteed that his son. Seventhism, baby, let's get it.

00:51:45 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 2:

Is his girlfriend coming with him?

00:51:47 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 4:

She probably enrolled in his summer class. well can i be honest with you think about this this guy dates the youngest girls around who relates more to college kids than bill belichick you think you think that that he doesn't relate this guy knows man he brings her around you think any college kids gonna be like or players gonna

00:52:06 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

be like that's my man you know while we're talking football the nfl seems to be backing jay-z and moving forward with their partnership i made the lawsuit that was filed a few days ago claiming that Jay-Z raped a 13-year-old girl during a press conference that happened yesterday. A head of the Christmas Day games on Netflix, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was asked about the league's association with Jay-Z, and he said they don't really plan on changing anything in the coming months. Specifically, he said they are aware of the civil allegations, they are aware litigation is taking place, but the relationship is not changing, And that includes preparations to produce the next Super Bowl halftime show, which Kendrick Lamar is slated to headline when the big game heads to New Orleans come February.

00:52:54 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 1:

This is the least shocking news for the NFL, correct?

00:52:57 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 4:

I think that they're probably backing him now until more stuff comes out. And then they're not going to back him, but they have to because they have so much money in him.

00:53:05 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 1:

But also, how many times have players or staff members been involved in domestic violence and they get little to no punishment?

00:53:13 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 4:

Right. But I also think everything is so vague right now of what the allegations are against Jay-Z. And you got, what is it? They said that it's one person that has come forward and they're anonymous. And I think they're probably thinking to themselves, okay, we're going to wait. But if there's more a trove of people like what we've seen with Diddy, I don't think anybody's going to back him. Just like they don't back Diddy right now. You think anybody's backing Diddy? No. No, Diddy was doing the backing. No. But I'm telling you, I do think I will say this. I was having a conversation with Tony about this, about Jay-Z's music. I mean, I I'd probably, you know, think that there's some people that are easing off on Jay. There's allegations out there right now.

00:54:00 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 5:

I'm so let me go. I'm tired of allegations, bro. Just because somebody say you did something shouldn't mean that everything is. I agree. Flushed down the drain. Can we do something beyond he was there? It was him. Like, can we get some real evidence before we start passing judgment?

00:54:14 - 00:54:21 | Speaker 4:

From what this lawyer is saying, this lawyer is saying that they've got evidence that he actually— Well, I want to see it. But they're saying that he actually wasn't just there, that he was—

00:54:21 - 00:54:34 | Speaker 5:

He held her down and was a part of it. Man, show the evidence. Same thing with Diddy, man. It was all talk until we have evidence. They raided his crib for a reason. Nobody raiding Jay-Z's crib at the moment, so why don't we wait? Put a pause on this real quick.

00:54:34 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 4:

It's going to be interesting.

00:54:35 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Megan Fox just plopped down $8 million for a new home in L.A. without Machine Gun Kelly. No surprise here. The purchase comes weeks after she announced she's pregnant with the couple's first child together. But they haven't been living together. I don't really think they've ever lived together. The plan was not even for them to live together when they were still together and expecting this baby. But again, Megan ended her relationship after she discovered that.

00:55:00 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 4:

MGK had been texting a plethora of other women and lastly Kim Kardashian is dating again but it's nobody we know she's dating a real estate investor who is not in the public eye it's not a committed relationship but they are in a relationship um it's funny because I keep hearing about this one specific person but then somebody else is telling me she's dating a few different people but i know i know she met this real estate investor through mutual friends and um it seems to be going well and this comes a couple of months after her fling with has he ever played basketball no he for everybody who has talked to me about this person says he we would we would not know his name unless we were in the real estate all right is his name

00:55:50 - 00:56:09 | Speaker 2:

Jeff Sackwa. I don't believe so. Would that not be amazing? I would love that. I think she would find him incredibly charming. He's an incredibly charming man. She liked Pete Davidson. Then you think if you liked Pete Davidson you'd like Jeff. Well, they're comedians. Jeff is hilarious.

00:56:10 - 00:56:16 | Speaker 4:

Every single home game to win a $1,000 gift card to StubHub, okay? which is always fun that we get to do this but i gotta tell you something this is getting more and more crazy hold on why is my uh my music not working on my computer here this is kind of nuts

00:59:39 - 00:59:50 | Speaker 2:

done it always the show before whatever the game is going to be or the day of you called us 10 hat 10 foil hat guys and we talked about switching our seats at thursday game listen i've never

00:59:50 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

wanted to talk about this on the air never ever ever but every time we've lost in the last two years I've worn the same sweatshirt. And so I stopped wearing it for the past 10 games.

01:00:00 - 01:00:01 | Speaker 4:

We won the past 10.

01:00:02 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 3:

So just wear a session.

01:00:03 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 2:

Thanksgiving, we gave it away a couple days before. Don't wear it. For the game. What? Thanksgiving, we gave it a couple days before. It wasn't the day of, and it wasn't the day before.

01:00:10 - 01:00:11 | Speaker 1:

But we did it as the last show.

01:00:11 - 01:00:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the last show. Before the game. Yeah, here we go. Sorry, I misheard you.

01:00:15 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no, it's still not coming through the board. Why is it not coming through the board? Maybe it's me. Call the engineers. Call the engineers. Maybe Megan's right. This is our sign. Uh-oh. There we go. I'll play it right there. Oh, no. All right, here we go. Is Brian back on the phone with us right now? Brian, are you there?

01:00:33 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 3:

Yep, I'm here.

01:00:34 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 1:

All right, Brian. We're going to do the opening coin flip on this one, okay?

01:00:39 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 3:

You're making superstitious.

01:00:41 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 4:

I am because I love this team. I love this team.

01:00:46 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 1:

Here's the deal, Brian. We're going to do heads for which day?

01:00:53 - 01:00:54 | Speaker 3:

Tomorrow.

01:00:54 - 01:01:07 | Speaker 1:

Heads for tomorrow. Tails for today. okay? Heads for tomorrow, tails for today. Do we have it? You want to flip it? You got to flip it and let it hit the ground. Are you flipping with, are you doing it with your thumb like flipping or are you just

01:01:07 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 2:

tossing it in the air? I was going to toss it.

01:01:08 - 01:01:24 | Speaker 1:

How did the, how did the, you got to put it on the tip of your thumb and get it done. How did the referees do it? I feel like they used their thumb. Alright, so heads for tomorrow, tails for today. Ready? Hold on. Actually, you know what? Flip it and put it on the control board so you can hear it.

01:01:24 - 01:01:27 | Speaker 3:

I don't know how to do the thumb. Megan, flip that thing.

01:01:27 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 1:

So you can do it, right? But make sure, because you'll have sound off of it. The carpet won't give you sound.

01:01:31 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 2:

Here we go. Here we go. One, two. It didn't even flip.

01:01:34 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 1:

Wait, no, you got to do this. No, give somebody else the thing. This is not a sounding thing, bro. You got to do that.

01:01:39 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 3:

He did the same thing. Give me the damn quarter. Same effing thing. Give me the damn quarter.

01:01:43 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 1:

All right. What is this? Where did it go? Is this a...

01:01:47 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 3:

Okay, y'all ready? You're the guy that... He's the guy that's good. He's the good flipper.

01:01:52 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 1:

You're the flipper.

01:01:53 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 3:

I'm the flipper. You ready? Here we go. Do you want it to hit the ceiling or no? Let it hit the floor? I'm going to do it. I'd hit the floor like in a Super Bowl.

01:01:59 - 01:02:04 | Speaker 1:

But you got to let it hit something that people can hear the sound with, like the control board or something. All right. All right, here we go.

01:02:04 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 4:

I would laugh so hard if it went in my cup of water.

01:02:07 - 01:02:07 | Speaker 2:

Are you ready?

01:02:08 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 1:

Go ahead.

01:02:09 - 01:02:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, there you go.

01:02:10 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 1:

All right, it is?

01:02:13 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 3:

Maggie, you want to call it out? Oh, yeah. I had to think about it because I haven't seen a coin in so long, I forgot which side was head and which was tails. It's tails.

01:02:22 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 1:

It is tails, and you said tails was for what?

01:02:25 - 01:02:29 | Speaker 3:

For today. Tales for today? It's today.

01:02:29 - 01:02:30 | Speaker 1:

Today.

01:02:30 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 4:

We're doing it today, Megan. If we lose, Brian, if we lose, Brian, it's your fault. It's the quarter's fault. I'm going to hide.

01:02:38 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 1:

Brian, we're doing it today. Here's the deal. We're doing it today. Today, before 930, we're giving you a chance to win tickets to go, or I'm sorry, I can't say tickets, $1,000 StubHub card, okay? So $1,000 StubHub gift card courtesy of Zot Ford and Papa Romano's. So listen between now and 9.30 for a chance to win. You cannot tune away from this radio show, Brian.

01:03:06 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 3:

I never do. Oh, I love you. I love you, Brian.

01:03:09 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 1:

He's the best. Hold on, Brian. Colleen wants to join the bunch here. She wants to talk to Megan. What's up, Colleen?

01:03:14 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Megan, we're 12 and 1. We're not 11.

01:03:17 - 01:03:28 | Speaker 4:

You're right. You know what? Jingle Ball this week has thrown me so off. I don't think I have slept in, like, literally four or five days. I cannot think straight. Thank you. You're right. 11 in a row. I get it.

01:03:29 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 1:

You're welcome. Thank you. That was prophetic. So here's the story here. Megan may be right on this one because I have not stopped wearing the same pair of underwear that I wear for every- I'm not kidding you. You think I'm joking? I got a blue pair of Tommy John's with the flap folded over that won't, you know, because my belly was so big, it was stopped. So I wear them all the time for Lions game day.

01:03:53 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 4:

I'll even tell you what. I'll tell you what sweatshirt it is because I posted it on Instagram. Everybody loves it. The sweatshirt where they look like the Beatles and they're crossing the street is my bad luck sweatshirt. During one of the games, I started the game wearing it. We were down and losing. I took it off and changed. We won the game. I'm just saying. I'm just saying.

01:04:12 - 01:04:30 | Speaker 1:

Kevin knows this. When we went to the last game on Thursday Night Football, we were sitting in the right seats for the first half. We went up to go get something to drink. came back we all mixed up our seats what happened we went we started losing the game so we made george and steve move with us and guess what we ended up winning the game i'm just not allowed

01:04:30 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 2:

to go to any games because the only game that i went to at ford field was the game that we lost

01:04:34 - 01:04:49 | Speaker 4:

she is literally the only loss somebody should be asking me to go because i was there the day that stafford received the touchdown pass against green bay every time i go except for the one playoff game where they weren't playing there. It was on the television screens. They've won. I'm

01:04:49 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 1:

3-0. Kevin's 2-0. We should go with you. So if you want to take us, take us. You didn't take me

01:04:55 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 4:

the last time you guys went.

01:04:59 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Alright, we need 3-0. Free tickets. The subscription fees are out of freaking control. Not Mojo. He's free. Listen to Mojo on our free iHeartRadio app. Listen to the show live. Wait, wait. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. 1045 SNX in West Michigan. Or 925 KISS FM in Toledo. Listen to the podcast for free. Free never sounded so good.

01:05:21 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Vans, are you there? Vans? Vans says there's a correction here. Vans, what's the correction? Vanessa, I'm sorry, Vanessa. It only said Vans on there for a second. Vanessa. Vanessa. Vanessa says that's not what Brian said in the beginning.

01:05:42 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

01:05:43 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 2:

Brian said Tails was tomorrow. To the tape. What did he say? Or wait, is that right? Or what did he say?

01:05:52 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 1:

He said Tails was tomorrow.

01:05:55 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Are you sure? Because nobody said Tails tomorrow. No, I think he said heads tomorrow, but I could be... No, he said heads today until tomorrow. Nobody else is texting that, though. You're the only person. There was one other person. Was there? Hold on. Shoot. Check the audio. Let's go to the replay, instant replay. Brian, you might have screwed yourself on this one here. I'm hearing this. We're going to have to go to the transcripts. I love this man. Let's go to the... We got to go. Wait, he said, heads for tomorrow, tails for today, is what Zach just said. Zach just told me. That's what he said. All right, so we're right, Brian. You're right. Before 930.

01:06:35 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 1:

You guys are confusing me.

01:06:37 - 01:06:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry that you used one of your challenges, Vanessa. You're out of a challenge right now. Sorry. Mark, I'll figure it out during a commercial break. I appreciate it. Give it up for Mark. Shut up to Mark.

01:06:48 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 1:

Mark claps for himself. Mark. I love you, Mark.

01:06:50 - 01:07:03 | Speaker 2:

Mark, have you tried this restaurant down the way for these ham and cheese omelets? I might need one today. If you guys want to get some breakfast, let's try to figure it out. Get Mark a ham and cheese. You don't want that? Why not? Are you lactose now?

01:07:03 - 01:07:04 | Unknown:

No, it's too much.

01:07:04 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 2:

It's too much? How would too much? What are you doing? You got a girlfriend, don't you, that you're losing weight for? What's the story? Oh!

01:07:11 - 01:07:12 | Speaker 1:

He left.

01:07:13 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 3:

He walked right out on that one. You walked right back in. Now I'm her brother. I wish it was me. I love him. Look at his little... He doesn't care. He got his neckline out. Look at him.

01:07:24 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 2:

By the way, if you're dating our engineer, Mark McEvich, we want you to call up. I'm putting a bounty out for you right now. All right, Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning Show. Cav had a very interesting thing happen to him that is now making him wonder, can short guys be with tall girls?

01:07:45 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I would love to hear from any Amazonian queens out there. If you are tall, and I'm talking like 5'11 and up, If you are dating a guy that's shorter than you, do you like it for one? Did you always, well, excuse me, were you always interested in short guys? Or did you just say like, man, F it, let me give it a chance. So this lady at the holiday party, not the holiday party, but at our jingle ball kickoff yesterday, the day before yesterday, my days are running together too, approached me and talked about obviously me being single. And she's like, I'm telling her like, I'm not looking for anybody right now. I'm not going to be looking for anybody for a while. My goal is to focus on myself. And she's like, well, what if I introduce you to someone else that's also just focusing on themselves? And she's beautiful, and you guys can just focus on yourselves but do it together. And I'm like, okay, sounds interesting. She's like, she's beautiful. I'm like, check. She's like, she's a VP at GM. I'm like, okay, that's cool. She's like, do you like tall women? I'm like, I'll climb a tree. And I've been with tall women before. But in my mind was like.

01:08:48 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 1:

I like climbing a tree. Stop.

01:08:50 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm climbing a tree. Yeah, yeah, I'm Paul Bunyan. I heard you right. Put my flannel on and bring the X. But my mindset is not so much if I like tall women, but if that tall woman would like to date a guy that's shorter than her. And I've never had that conversation before. And I would love to find out if that's a thing. Because I feel like for short guys or shorter guys, we don't really care if the woman is taller than us for real. As long as she's not tolerant, like she got her patting on my head,

01:09:21 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 2:

I think for if you're a tall woman, it must be sometimes hard to find guys that are your size because I think that there's probably more of a selection opening up. But I could see where it'd be difficult where you'd feel self-conscious, especially if you couldn't wear the heels that you want to wear. For guys, I always find it interesting. To me, I think if I met a girl that was beautiful and she was like six foot four and that was taller than me, I'd be like, that's hot. That's like, damn.

01:09:52 - 01:09:57 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean? 6'4", a little too wild, though. And listen, for me at least, you taller than me, so that might work for you.

01:09:57 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 2:

But no, so you think that would be way crazy?

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 5:

I mean, yeah, that's like dating somebody in the WNBA.

01:10:02 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 7:

They cold, but like, ah, that's a little.

01:10:03 - 01:10:04 | Speaker 5:

6'4 is crazy.

01:10:04 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 7:

Wait, you're telling me that you would turn down that hot girl from Chicago? What's her name? Angel Reese ain't really that cold for me, though. I'd smash her, but we're not trying to do all that. She's a beautiful young lady, though. I'm going to take it easy right now, but I'd smash her. 6'4, that's a little too aggressive. KP, you're a taller woman here. Do you have a hard time finding guys that are of size?

01:10:25 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I do. KP, how tall are you? I wouldn't consider KP tall. So I'm 5'8", and I feel like I look taller, but I'm pretty average height for a female. You got a long neck. That's what it is. Oh, that's great. Are you comparing me to a giraffe? No, I'm just looking at your neck.

01:10:42 - 01:10:50 | Speaker 6:

I think 5'8 is tall for a girl, but not like too tall. Like when I hear 6'2", I think that's tall for a girl. Oh, gosh. You got a long neck. Six feet or above.

01:10:50 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 5:

You're beautiful, though.

01:10:52 - 01:10:55 | Speaker 2:

Anybody taller than me is going to punch you in the neck.

01:10:56 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 5:

Necklaces look great on you.

01:10:58 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. That is so funny. That is so good. All right. That'd be like 511 and up. All right. Mojo in the morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Let me go to Fred here. What up, Fred? Hi.

01:11:16 - 01:11:35 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, everybody? It's the original Fred from Detroit. What's up, Fred? Good morning, I'm G-Fred. But, yeah, kids, those tall women, it's on the bottom. We got some legs and all that. I haven't yet got to get to a real Amazonian. You know, the ones that's like six feet and over. But I'm waiting on what else.

01:11:36 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 6:

She wear like an arrow on the back of her vest, Amazonian.

01:11:40 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 5:

Now, Fred, how tall are you? That's what we call big women.

01:11:44 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 6:

Amazonian, my love. You said Amazonian like the store.

01:11:48 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 7:

It's brought to you by Jeff Bezos.

01:11:52 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 6:

Hence the smile arrow reference.

01:11:54 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 5:

He said he ain't had his Ouija. Now, how tall are you, Fred? I'm 5'8 on a good day. 5'6. With the Tims on. No, I'm wearing Tims, man, with the Ugg boots on. You know, I'm 5'8 with the Ugg boots on.

01:12:11 - 01:12:13 | Speaker 6:

Are you wearing the platform Uggs, though? Is it really 5'5?

01:12:14 - 01:12:15 | Speaker 5:

No, the brute ones.

01:12:16 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 6:

I love you.

01:12:20 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 7:

Thank you, Fred. Thank you, original Fred. By the way, I need a song for this whole thing. I need to have my song here. Even though it's not talking about this, is it?

01:12:36 - 01:12:40 | Speaker 6:

No, it does have a curse in it if you're playing it off your phone.

01:12:40 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, really? Yes.

01:12:41 - 01:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Don't want no short, short, man.

01:12:44 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 7:

There you go.

01:12:44 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 1:

It's edited. Don't want no short, short, man. I hope so. What's up? Don't want no short, short, man.

01:12:51 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Andrea? How you doing? Good. How are you? Good. Andrea doesn't mind short guys, right?

01:12:59 - 01:13:06 | Speaker 4:

No, my husband is 5'3", and I'm 6'0". Wow, look at you. Do you ever give him a piggyback ride?

01:13:06 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

01:13:07 - 01:13:08 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no.

01:13:09 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 7:

When you guys take pictures, does he ever, like, ask you to sit? Or what does he do?

01:13:14 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 4:

No, no, I just stand, and he always says that I'm the perfect height for a pillow.

01:13:21 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 7:

For a pillow. So I thought you were going to say something else. So, Andrea, was it awkward, though, like when you guys were standing at the altar, you know, like trying to trying to look into each other's eyes?

01:13:37 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, a little bit. But I mean, we got used to it and I got used to it before we got married. So, I mean, it's normal now. I don't think of it anymore.

01:13:45 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 7:

Was it tough dating at first, though? Or was it tough dating for you, period? Was it tough to date guys? Because six foot is definitely a tall woman.

01:13:53 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was tough a little bit, but I just stopped looking at height because it just was too hard to find somebody that was close to my height.

01:14:04 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 6:

I feel like height is, on the list of things that matter, the stupidest thing to care about when it comes to a partner.

01:14:11 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. What would be the more important, the height of them or they're a good guy?

01:14:18 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 6:

Oh, good person. It's wild to me that you could, like, literally find your perfect match and then just be like, you're the wrong height. I don't want to be happy for my life. That to me is so wild that people care this much.

01:14:29 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 7:

I, as a guy, would look for a tall woman because your kids get tall. The height comes from the mom. What's up, Brittany? How you doing?

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, everyone.

01:14:41 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 7:

What's going on?

01:14:43 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. So I am six foot. If you ask me in person, though, I will tell you I'm 5'11 and a half. I will not say I'm six foot. But I will say as a tall woman, maybe it's just where I'm looking or what finds me, but I can never find a man.

01:15:00 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 9:

that is taller than me. So usually any of the guys that I've dated have always either been my height or, like, a little bit shorter. But, listen, if the guy's okay with it, I'm okay with it. You can climb the tree all day.

01:15:12 - 01:15:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, look at that. What are advantages to having a guy be shorter than you? Are there any of them?

01:15:19 - 01:15:21 | Speaker 9:

I mean, I don't know that I would say.

01:15:21 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 5:

I mean, they can kind of fit in lower areas. Like, they can get, you know, they can pick things up off the ground faster.

01:15:27 - 01:15:34 | Speaker 9:

for sure they can squeeze into smaller places if i need to reach something that's up higher

01:15:34 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 5:

i can get you know what i mean yeah you can let them drive and you can sit behind them in the car and you don't have uh issues with your leg room i always love that i listen i'm a i'm a taller guy with a shorter woman and i love it people always look at us like we're we're like what is that all about they think we're an exclamation point whenever we're hanging out with each other you

01:15:53 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 6:

know what's interesting a lot of people well no hang on a lot of people i've heard the conversation that that's the reason why there aren't enough tall guys for tall women because tall guys always

01:16:04 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 3:

go for short women that is true yeah yeah but i actually disagree with that now i used to think that that's how it was but i feel like tall guys like being with tall girls because they want the genes the genetics i'm five four and i dated a six six guy that was it's actually harder than you

01:16:21 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 1:

think it's it's nice to be married to somebody who is a little bit more so well a lot of it more on the shorter side because i in like situations of going to a wedding for example oh my god my neck starts to hurt because my yeah seriously when you're laying next to each other

01:16:38 - 01:16:43 | Speaker 5:

in bed megan next to a guy that's six foot six yeah do you have to like scoot up in the bed

01:16:43 - 01:16:53 | Speaker 2:

or to kiss him or what are you truly and i don't think people realize one of us was always in pain Either my neck was completely, like, crooned up, or he was bent over. See that?

01:16:53 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 5:

We're all the same height, KP, just said, when we're laying down.

01:16:56 - 01:16:58 | Speaker 2:

No, you're not. When you're dick, when you're...

01:16:58 - 01:16:59 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what did you say? Nothing.

01:17:00 - 01:17:01 | Speaker 2:

When you're what?

01:17:02 - 01:17:06 | Speaker 5:

You can't say, talk about his dick. What's going on, Gary? How you doing?

01:17:07 - 01:17:20 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so I'm five foot. My wife is six foot. And in the middle of staying on up shuls, the pastor stopped the service, dropped down a step stool. so we were at the exact same time. No.

01:17:21 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 6:

That's funny. Did he tell you he was going to do that or he just came out of the blue with it?

01:17:27 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 7:

He came out of the blue with it. Wow. He just stopped it. Great passer, had a great time. It was fun.

01:17:35 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. By the way, I love a guy that has a sense of humor. And you know what? That's great that you don't take it too seriously because there's nothing worse than a guy with a Napoleon complex. You know?

01:17:46 - 01:17:52 | Speaker 7:

Definitely not me. You were talking earlier about benefits of being a sh** guy. I'm the perfect armrest for my wife.

01:17:54 - 01:17:58 | Speaker 5:

That is true. That is great. Man, I love you, Gary. Take care of yourself.

01:17:59 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 7:

Love you, too. Bye, Mojo.

01:18:00 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 5:

Bye. Take care. Sarah wants to talk to you, Kevin, though, about dating this girl. What's going on, Sarah?

01:18:06 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 8:

Hey, I just want to let Kevin know that tall women are a whole package deal, so you're not going to find a tall woman without really big feet.

01:18:14 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 6:

Oh. We're not sure. Dude, that's kind of.

01:18:16 - 01:18:18 | Speaker 5:

Are you into feet?

01:18:18 - 01:18:20 | Speaker 8:

I'm 5'10", and I'm size 11.

01:18:21 - 01:18:27 | Speaker 5:

Interesting. You guys could share shoes, Kevin. You guys could share Uggs. You could go get those Uggs that you've been trying to get.

01:18:28 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 6:

The platform. I hope she don't have big feet. Is that real? If they taught, they got to have big feet? Usually. Usually, yes. You're not going to be six foot or a size six foot. You'd flop over.

01:18:38 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:18:38 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 6:

I didn't even think about that.

01:18:39 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Well, thank you. I appreciate you, Sarah. Take care of yourself.

01:18:43 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 6:

01:20:00 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 1:

she's performing in drag but afraid to fall asleep and shannon with the worst date ever coming up here this morning on the mojo in the morning show plus uh here's a question that we're going to get into probably it won't be in the next hour i don't know it depends on how we we run with War of the Roses and everything. If you get engaged during the holidays, does that count as your Christmas present? That's just a little question. And then, you know, we promised the Lions tickets today, all because of Brian. Lions tickets coming up this morning, $1,000 StubHub gift card so that you can purchase those tickets from Zodford and Papa Romano's before 930. So it could happen in the next couple of minutes. It could happen at, I don't know, 929. So as long as it's before 9 30 you have a chance to win all right it is the mojo in the morning show phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 what's up susan hey mojo hi so i was just wondering i'm

01:21:07 - 01:21:17 | Speaker 2:

sitting here thinking listening to this topic about tall women and short guys and all i can think about is a chihuahua and a pitbull how are these people doing the nasty you know i don't know

01:21:17 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 1:

if we can get into the description of that, but I would think that, you know, like we talked about it, as long as they're laying

01:21:23 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 3:

down. Again, it doesn't matter. But standing up, though. Have you ever had stand-up cookies? Your torsos don't match. It matters. KP, what do you say? I don't know. It'll matter if you're standing, yes. What if they're long legs? If you're in a bed, it does not matter your height. Yes, it does. Your torsos don't match. Just match your torso. Your leg's going to be longer. You're not going to see. You can get very creative, and that's a very easy fix to me. It doesn't matter, I'm telling you. I dated someone who was 6'10". It does not matter. A similar situation.

01:21:55 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 1:

Maybe all bodies differ. Susan, how tall are you?

01:22:00 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 2:

I'm 5'3". My husband's 5'8". Wow.

01:22:04 - 01:22:09 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I've not met a lot of young Susans. You're a young Susan.

01:22:09 - 01:22:10 | Speaker 2:

I am.

01:22:11 - 01:22:19 | Speaker 1:

Who are you named after? grandmother my paternal grandmother okay all right well it's a tradition in my family where

01:22:19 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 2:

the the woman names their first born daughter after their husband's mother that's cool i like that i broke it though i broke it though no more susans uh all right thank you for the call i

01:22:30 - 01:24:06 | Speaker 1:

appreciate it have a good day guys bye all right it's mojo in the morning show all right i want to talk about this and i want to ask the question then afterwards why is it that people need to always and no matter what the circumstances invade your space so i went to uh should i say the name of the place or will they get mad at me i endorse it but the name of the place has nothing to do with the story though okay yeah so i went to planet fitness yesterday uh and i met planet fitness and i came from work and i was i was kind of dressed okay so i had i wanted to change into my you know my clothes so i wanted to change into my shorts and my shirt so i go into the locker room and when i go to planet fitness it's usually at a time there's nobody at planet fitness it's middays right it's like one o'clock two o'clock in the afternoon and you go into the gym or you go into the gym gym's empty you go into the locker room the locker room is definitely empty and i go inside there to go change my clothes and i'm changing and i'm down literally down with my pants all the way down taking my shirt off i'm standing there my big old hairy body and stuff and i'm changing a guy walks into the locker room with his big old beefy gym bag and he comes sits exactly right next to me like there's this is you guys have been to a planet finish you guys know how big the gym locker rooms are they're very very large you can go to the bathroom you can do everything i mean there's so many places that you could go to the guy chooses to come and sit right next to me i'm like all right whatever this has happened to me before I'm putting my pants on I go and put my shirt on and I go to sit down because I got to put my hocus back on

01:24:06 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 3:

hocus

01:24:07 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 1:

I sit down on the seat and I look over next to me and the guy's D is right there like he's like ah yeah I don't understand men's locker rooms and I'm going to say this to you I have no problem with men's genitalia I've got one I've seen them before I'm cool with it there's nothing wrong with it I just don't understand and this is not a topic of why is the guy completely naked in the locker room this is the topic of and it could go either way why is it that when i go to kroger and i stand in the line and there's five or six other you know uh cash out yourself uh self check out self checkouts why does the person always have

01:24:51 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 2:

to stand right next to me drives me crazy you know what i mean for me it's not it's not the locker room and it's not the self-checkout it's the treadmill

01:25:00 - 01:25:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that one really, really drives me nuts.

01:25:02 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 6:

They always got to fight for the same treadmill, right?

01:25:04 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 1:

And the only thing I can think in my head is, okay, maybe they have a favorite treadmill, a favorite spot. And so no matter if somebody is right there or not, they are going to that specific one. But I'm always like, why? Especially if I'm the only person on and they come right up next to me. Oh, I don't like that.

01:25:21 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 2:

I hate when you're the only person on and they come up right up next to you. But when it's like mid-level busy at Planet Fitness, I kind of get it only because they have certain things on certain televisions. So you might want to watch something that like is close to me. But when the place is empty, go two over.

01:25:37 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 6:

And again, this is not just a Planet Fitness thing.

01:25:39 - 01:25:41 | Speaker 2:

No, you're right. You're right.

01:25:41 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 6:

Because why is it when I'm in the bathroom in a public restroom, say at Ford Field for a Lions game, I'm at a urinal. Why does a guy got to choose the urinal right next to me instead of choosing a urinal two over?

01:25:54 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 5:

You can't choose it. It's got to be some like human instinct or something inside of us that we gravitate towards other people.

01:26:01 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 1:

That's the only logical. You know where else this drives me nuts is in parking lots. If whether it's busy or not busy, if you park and then somebody parks right next to you when you're trying to get out of your car and like get the kids out of the car and open your trunk and somebody's right there.

01:26:18 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 6:

What do they say? Leave a space for the holy Jesus. Yeah, like, come up with, Ethan, what's going on? Why is it that the guy's got to put his D right next to me?

01:26:29 - 01:26:48 | Speaker 7:

I have no idea. Maybe he just doesn't value his own personal space, be like we do. I've been going through this for the past couple of weeks. I thought it was just a me thing, but I love my personal space. I use, I was just hearing you guys talk about it, but I use the men's journal rule, like, everywhere I go.

01:26:48 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:26:49 - 01:27:12 | Speaker 7:

Like, so I was just at Edge Fitness over on Harlem and I'm on the stair climbers and there's, all of them are open. I make sure that I count out which one I'm on so that everybody can have like a space when people come up. And this guy walks up on the one right next to me, like, excuse me, sir, do I smell that good or something?

01:27:13 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 6:

Right. I don't get it. It just does not make any sense, man. It's a personal space thing. Misfit Victor. What's up, Victor?

01:27:23 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 4:

What's up, guys? How are you? Morning, man. Well, I used to work at this restaurant in Commerce, and we had a counter that had nine empty seats. And one of our customers was sitting at the seat there by himself, and this lady comes in and sits right next to him. And this guy was like my, you know, my hero. He looks right at her and goes, eight bleeping empty seats, and you've got to sit on top of me? And he gets up and moves to the other end of the counter, and she goes, well, I don't bite. He goes, you might, and goes, what? He was my spirit animal. This guy was amazing.

01:28:06 - 01:28:15 | Speaker 6:

He spoke everything that you wanted to say. By the way, that does happen a lot if you ever sit in counter seating or at a bar. I don't understand that, too. Like, why do they have to take the seat right next to you?

01:28:15 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 5:

Prior to, like, Imagine and having, like, reserved seating, I used to go to the movies and everybody wanted to sneak into the middle and get the closest one.

01:28:23 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 6:

It's getting worse. It's like sit, like, one row back if you can. What's up, Jason? Or real quick, Jason. In a movie theater, Jason, real quick, back in the day, I hated the guy that would have to sit right behind you or right in front of you.

01:28:35 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 5:

Like, bro, go away.

01:28:35 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 6:

Like, sit one over. What's up, Jason?

01:28:38 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 8:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo? I feel you on the bathroom thing, man. uh i i can't really remember where i was at but it was there were like 16 stalls and i was the only guy in there and you know i'm doing my business here comes the guy lo and behold stands right next to me and like turns his head and starts talking to me like dude i don't know you

01:29:01 - 01:29:09 | Speaker 6:

and you know what the funny thing is i'm a friendly guy i'll talk to anybody when you have your pants on.

01:29:10 - 01:29:11 | Speaker 5:

You know what I mean? Yeah.

01:29:12 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 6:

I have no problem having a conversation with me, but I want to make sure you got your pants on at that particular time. Wait, is this Brian still? Brian, are you calling back again? It's Ryan. Oh, Ryan. You got me scared. I thought it was...

01:29:34 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 2:

Please be single.

01:29:35 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Brian?

01:29:37 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so in junior high, we had, like, these bathrooms by the lunchroom, and, like, there was a urinal right next to, like, the actual stall, and people would always kind of come in and use it while, you know, I guess I was peeing, and I would get mad, and I would, you know, pee on their foot as they were using the bathroom.

01:29:56 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 2:

I take back the single thing. I take it back.

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Now you want to date them?

01:30:00 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Now you want him to be cool?

01:30:00 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 2:

No, you missed it. I wanted to date him at first, and then he said he pees on people, and now I'm out. And as Barbara would say on Shark Tank, I'm out.

01:30:10 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 1:

That's middle school me, you know.

01:30:13 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 2:

I feel like that urge just stays with people, you know what I mean?

01:30:17 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's awesome. Thank you for the call, buddy. Shower.

01:30:20 - 01:30:20 | Unknown:

Bye.

01:30:21 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 1:

Snow. Quick, update your social media with a pic so your friends don't have to look out the window. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, it is so nasty in certain areas of our listening area with the snow that's going on. It's going to be with us a winter storm warning until about 10 a.m. today, so be careful. All right, it is Mojo in the morning. I did not know this until we had our pre-show meeting and we were going over our topics for today. Megan is doing drag this weekend?

01:30:52 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 2:

This weekend at Hamburger Mary's in downtown Toledo on Saturday. I'm so excited about this. This is not my first time doing drag, but it's been my first time in a long time doing drag.

01:31:00 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean you're doing drag? Yeah, explain that.

01:31:02 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 2:

Like, I'm having somebody put me in drag. There's all different types of drag. There's fem drag.

01:31:05 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 1:

Explain the types of drag, because I don't know drag.

01:31:07 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 2:

Fem drag is like when a person, I want to be very specific because I understand that this is a very important part of queer culture. So, if it's a person who is born a female and identifies as female, you can do fem drag. where it's still putting on drag but you identify as a woman which is what you're doing correct yeah which is what like and then there are drag kings which are women who dress up as men there are drag queens that are you know most of the time men who dress up as women and there's also like we can splinter this down into like a hundred different factions is there drag where if you're a woman you dress as a dude yeah drag kings that's right kings that's what it is okay

01:31:49 - 01:31:52 | Speaker 1:

So, question for you. Which I've done before. Which one are you dressing?

01:31:53 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 2:

This weekend, I'm doing femme drag. So, I'm dressing up as, well, mostly women. I don't want to spoil the surprise. One is not, in fact, a person.

01:32:02 - 01:32:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait.

01:32:03 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you don't like the mad singer. Yeah, kind of. Kind of.

01:32:08 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 1:

So, question for you. When you do this, because I did drag once for a promotional thing. Back in the day, Spike and I did a drag thing together. It's fine. And I got to be quite honest with you, I thought that, actually, I thought he was more attractive than I was, but I thought I was very attractive. What if you like the way you look so much, do you then ask the person who's helping you with your makeup and stuff, re-transform you a little bit?

01:32:35 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 2:

I did. That's what we did at Jingle Ball.

01:32:37 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait, that's the person that did that for you?

01:32:40 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 2:

Those are who are putting me in drag.

01:32:41 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, so if you saw Megan at Jingle Ball or any of these pictures that we have. Okay. Right. Yeah.

01:32:46 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:32:46 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:32:46 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 2:

So I'm really excited about this. I haven't done it in a really, really long time. Now, the people that are putting this on, we do a lot of charity events in Toledo all the time that are drag events. I host them just as myself. The last one we did was around Halloween. They do a lot of food drives with stuff like this or toy drives. That's the mission of usually the shows that they put on this time. I did agree, though, to get into drag myself, which I haven't done in, like I said, a really, really, really long time. Now, most of the events that we do together, and we had done them at, like, Ottawa Tavern or the old Hamburger Mary's, like, all different stuff. The Hamburger Mary's in Toledo has moved. They've all been, like, 4 o'clock events. So I just assumed this was another 4 o'clock event. And I will do drag at 4. I don't care. That's great to me because I'm still getting into bed by 8 or 9, and I'm a happy camper. I just realized the show starts at 10 p.m. Oh, damn. And I cannot do this. i don't know how to back out this late but i am out i can like i have not stayed up this late and i couldn't even tell you how long i even feel like post-covid culture about going out has roughly changed i mean back just a few years ago we would like go out at 10 stay out until four because you got to go get food after the bars or the club closes we started going out at like nine and being like one o'clock in the morning i'm good oh yeah i cannot do this i'm everybody's going to be just drinking and being crazy upstairs. I'm going to be downstairs in the dressing room sleeping. I don't know. I had a 515 dinner reservation yesterday. True golden girl. You know what time I scheduled an appointment with my therapist at 4 o'clock? And he's like, that's kind of late for you. And I went, I know. I know.

01:34:31 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 1:

I don't know how it is, but it seems to me that there are certain lifestyles like hairdressers, like I'm trying to think.

01:34:42 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 2:

Food service industry.

01:34:43 - 01:35:09 | Speaker 1:

Food service industry people, folks that do drag. I think that you guys all need to get to bed earlier and start earlier. I don't know what is going on. Why you guys feel like, why does everybody feel like they need to go out so late? Like, you know, nothing. good ever happens after midnight my mom told me once like what is it that's you know you seriously why can't you do the drag show at four in the afternoon for megan i i prefer this because

01:35:09 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 2:

they're dragging it into the late night i know there used to be one in grand rapids there was one i believe in ipsy and maybe one in lansing what's it called hamburger mary's okay there's only now the one in grand rapids closed now the only one around here is in toledo but i didn't know if you had been to either of them, or any of them

01:35:30 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 1:

across the country. Are drag shows like karaoke? Like, what happens at a drag show? Have you

01:35:36 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 2:

never been to a drag show? That is so fun.

01:35:39 - 01:35:42 | Speaker 1:

I know that's shocking, but no, I've never been to a drag show. It's so much fun.

01:35:43 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm not kidding you. The person I've seen have the most fun at a drag show is my father, Scott Mix. What happens? I can see that. He has a blast. But there are all different kinds of drag shows. That Golden Girls tour that I'm promoting, that's a drag show.

01:35:55 - 01:35:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. They're performing their You know, they're entertainers.

01:35:59 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 2:

There are theater versions of it. There are cabaret versions of it. There's something trying to transfer onto Broadway by Alaska from RuPaul's Drag Race. So, like, there are full Jinx Monsoon and Benda LaCreme were just in town, and they do more, like, cabaret.

01:36:12 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 1:

For Kev, would they ever do drag basketball? Would that not be great?

01:36:18 - 01:36:51 | Speaker 2:

I don't know about drag basketball. You can't dribble through your legs in a skirt. How do you do that? You've never seen a drag person perform? They do crazy things. What's the type of drag show you're going to? The one that I'm doing? Well, there's a whole bunch of different styles. So I would say, like, the person who did my hair for the event is a live singer. So they sing live, and there are other people there that are going to be doing stand-up, and there are other people that are going to be lip-syncing and dancing and doing, like, tumbling tricks. Like, more gymnastics and stuff. So there are different versions.

01:36:51 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 1:

Antoinette, what's up?

01:36:52 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 4:

hey i just have to ask what is megan's drag name so i don't know because like last time i did it

01:37:01 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 2:

i was just promoting um pride in toledo and so i was just on stage and they announced me as me from the radio station and the time before that i was a drag king so i had a guy name so i need a

01:37:13 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 1:

femme queen name i always feel like they come up with the best names yeah they're like oh i love

01:37:19 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 2:

Like, Karen from Finance is one of my favorite drag queens names.

01:37:22 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 1:

Karen from Finance.

01:37:23 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 2:

Please welcome to the stage, Karen from Finance. Okay, that is hysterical.

01:37:27 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 1:

Who used to be our HR lady? Oh, God, the last HR lady we had was... Wasn't it Julie, something like that? Oh, Julie. Julie was here before. She kind of modeled her. She wasn't really HR, but yeah. Can you be Julie from HR? What's up, Madeline?

01:37:39 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 4:

No?

01:37:40 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:37:40 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I just wanted to say I'm one of Megan's biggest fans. But also, I really wanted to know, like, where is this going to be? because I would love to come and support you.

01:37:50 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 2:

So it's going to be at Hamburger Mary's in downtown Toledo. They just moved to a new location. You know what? Let me look up the street address that it's on. It's over by Fifth Third Field now, and it's this Saturday. I think the show technically starts at, like, 9, I think. I'm going on a little bit later, but I think I have to get there at 3 p.m. to get ready, so I'm going to be there all day. Oh, my goodness. Thank you so much.

01:38:14 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 4:

I'm so excited. Please come. I'm going to have so much fun. Yes, I'll try to make it happen.

01:38:19 - 01:38:34 | Speaker 1:

Take care of yourself, man. I appreciate it. So, Megan, your outfit, will you, are you, because you have always had such a hard time, like, freaking out thinking what you're going to wear for Jingle Ball. Are you going to wear one of the 10 other outfits that you bought for Jingle Ball?

01:38:34 - 01:38:52 | Speaker 2:

We had to have a meeting last weekend where all of, because this is an event where they're having a lot of guest people come in to do this. So, I'm trying to think. Nick Comives is there. He's on City Council. He's going to be performing. Y'all got politicians? Yeah. This is going to be so much fun. I'm so excited.

01:38:52 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 1:

Did he really want you to say that? Because don't they tell me the politicians? Oh, yeah.

01:38:55 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 2:

He goes on the air all the time and talks about it. Like, he was a big. That's dope. I love Nick Comise. He has a pizza named after him in Toledo. I know there's a pizza cat here, but he had a pizza cat in Toledo named after him.

01:39:06 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 1:

My favorite are the politicians. The politicians that you find are doing drag, but they don't tell anybody. They're the guys that talk out against drag. That was that dude doing cameos now.

01:39:14 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 2:

Megan. Yeah. What about Spicy Magarita? Is that lame?

01:39:18 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

I'm not mad.

01:39:19 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

I like the honey names. Like, Maddy Morphosis is one of my favorite. Metamorphosis, Maddy Morphosis.

01:39:26 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 1:

No, I got it. What about you, Scarlett?

01:39:27 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 2:

You just looked at me with a really blank look.

01:39:29 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 1:

Scarlett, what do you think? I had no emotion.

01:39:31 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 3:

I think Megan's drag name should be Kelsey Crystal.

01:39:36 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 1:

Kelsey Crystal. And why do you say that? Just because it's a name that you've always liked?

01:39:41 - 01:39:47 | Speaker 3:

Because Megan gives me sparkle vibes. And Crystal Sparkle. Oh.

01:39:47 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 2:

So I love Sharon Needles, and I also love Crystal Method, which is very funny. I like Crystal Method. I like those kinds of names. So, like, I get the crystal part, but Crystal Method's already taken.

01:39:58 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

That's a good one.

01:39:59 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 2:

I love these. Thank you. Thank you, Scarlett. I want you to have something Lions-related.

01:40:02 - 01:40:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm down for that.

01:40:05 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 2:

Are people in Toledo as hyped about the Lions? Is everybody else?

01:40:09 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's so good. That's good. That is very good. All right, all right. That might be it.

01:40:17 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 2:

All right, this is happening again, Megan. How do people get tickets?

01:40:21 - 01:40:41 | Speaker 4:

You jerk. I don't believe you need tickets. It's a restaurant that they do drag at. So I think you can just come eat, have dinner, hang out, stay with us, and drink. Hamburger Mary's Toledo this Saturday. I believe it starts at 9. I'll post all of it up on my personal social media. So follow me at Megan Mick. But they moved to Huron Street. So it's actually where the old Poco Piatti used to be. That's the space that they moved into.

01:40:41 - 01:41:05 | Speaker 2:

I love it. All right. It's Mojo on the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text 95500. If you call the show, we'd love to know if you're a first time, long time. If you're a texter, know that we will call you and ask you to come on and make that comment on the radio. Shannon, you were out. was it yesterday that you were out? Yep. And went to a place that reminded Wes of something.

01:41:05 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we, Wes and I had a little, you guys know how much I hate the term date night, but we did have a hot date.

01:41:10 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 2:

Actually, wasn't it a date early evening?

01:41:12 - 01:43:06 | Speaker 3:

It was a date early evening. It was a 5.15 dinner reservation, but that's actually because this restaurant, I've been wanting to go there for years and years and I'll shut them out. It's called Lady of the House. It's in Detroit. It's like five minutes from this radio station. But they are so hard to get into for a great reason because it was top five dinners I've ever, ever had in the city. But it was phenomenal. So props to Chef Kate and everybody over there. But we were on our way there, and I've never been there before. But I said to Wes, who made the reservation, I'm like, oh, have you ever been to this place before? And he got this smile on his face, and I'm like, ooh, there's a story. And he said, well, I have kind of. when he after he got divorced and he first started dating he said that he got set up I think it was like a blind date and so he agreed to meet this girl at the bar at this restaurant at lady of the house and he said when he got there he very quickly realized that she had been drinking like had gone to a happy hour or something beforehand and was completely wasted off of her off of her mind and um and so he said it was to the point where he couldn't even like sit down and have a date with her and so he was like i think that we need to get you home so he ended up taking her he's like i didn't even trust an uber to get her like back to her so they left her car and he had to drive her home drop her off and that was it they never ended up going out on a date ever again that's so embarrassing she he said she reached out a couple of months later and like apologized and wanted to see if they could you know strike something up again and he was she just nervous and that was the only thing i don't know but he said she was absolutely sloshed and so that's what that was his memory of that restaurant what do you do if you go out on a date

01:43:06 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 2:

with somebody that you just met on hinge or bumble or whatever and they're they're so wasted like honestly at some point i'd be like i would try to put them in their own uber but i'd be afraid to because i wouldn't want to even take them home because i'd be afraid something you

01:43:19 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 4:

know well remember that second date update we did just a couple of weeks ago where the guy had six drinks in two hours on their date like yeah um okay so here's here's a question 844 mojo live

01:43:31 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 2:

has anybody had their date be so drunk and they felt like all of a sudden their date turned into them literally doing a sobriety thing with them trying to figure out what's up zach hi i will

01:43:42 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 1:

definitely chime in because uh this happened to me a couple days ago um been on a few dates with the same person and uh they got drunk like five times in a row so i've been on five dates with the same person and she gets drunk every single time she gets drunk every single time so we went to a wedding uh she was like blacked out uh we went to a nice like chop house restaurant she got blacked out and i'm like after yeah after the fourth time i was like all right when you say

01:44:10 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 2:

this blacked out in i'd love to know from west like the amount of drinks how many drinks are

01:44:14 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 1:

you drinking to get blacked out before the oh so she's coming drunk so she came drunk and i was like why what's going on she's like oh i had a few drinks beforehand and i'm like oh dude let's let's not let's like like let's not go out that sounds like an issue wait so what is so you've

01:44:33 - 01:44:40 | Speaker 2:

done this you said how many times now uh it was our fifth one like last week couple weeks what So why are you going for five? What is the story?

01:44:40 - 01:44:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, I thought that she was going through, like, some things. Well, she is going through some things, but, like, I felt bad. So I was like, okay, let's try it again next month. And then she came drunk again. And I was like, okay, let's try it again next month.

01:44:54 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 2:

So question for you, and, you know, I would ask this to anybody that has this happen. when

01:45:00 - 01:45:05 | Speaker 5:

you do this and you're out with them and now you're it goes from a date to babysitting babysitting

01:45:05 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 4:

yeah like she so out of the five times two out of the five she's thrown up oh my god you're still there with her when she's not anymore we're not talking anymore but like i had to talk to my therapist and be like what should i do about this like it's not really she said it's not my responsibility yeah and she needs to see someone but like i can't be the one to tell her to see someone which is why it's not my place man just to grow up and

01:45:35 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 5:

let me ask you a quick question yeah yeah so you got to do an intervention with a girl you just met on five days but say hey this is the reason i don't want to go out with you anymore maybe yeah were you sticking around because the sex was actually kind of good or something or what was

01:45:49 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 4:

the sex was was pretty good yeah but i mean no i i did feel bad too because she's going through do some stuff so i'm like well let's trauma bond let's hang out like let's let's talk about it but

01:46:03 - 01:46:16 | Speaker 5:

uh can i say this though this is the thing that would be interesting whenever they come around and they ask you hey do you want another drink you want another drink at some point and you're a guy that's mindful of your your money yeah at some point are you kind of like no you know well

01:46:16 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 4:

we don't want any more drinks i try not to like after she's come drunk we don't go to get more

01:46:22 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 5:

drinks yeah you want some food let's order a pizza after she comes drunk it's your turn yeah

01:46:28 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 1:

well um and that's what the situation was with west she this girl was they didn't even have the date because she was so drunk before the date oh my god all right does this question does this

01:46:38 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 5:

run for high too because i wonder how many times people have gone out on dates with somebody that was like blazed i've never seen someone throw up while high but but it's not that though it's just that they're incoherent. Yeah, that's true. I mean, come on. I've seen some people that are, like, they're basically spaceships. I've grown down before. Have you?

01:46:55 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

I took too much of an edible. That was my bad. Apparently, you're not supposed to eat edibles from a frat house basement in BG. Turns out. Bad idea. Bad idea. But I think in general, it's just a bad conversation. It's not like you're scared for the person's health.

01:47:09 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Dana, what's up?

01:47:11 - 01:47:14 | Speaker 2:

Hey. So I want to tell you about a first date I went on.

01:47:15 - 01:47:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Go ahead. Hi.

01:47:18 - 01:47:50 | Speaker 2:

hello yeah yeah so i it was one o'clock in the afternoon and i met him and uh he is he was so drunk and he kept looking at my my boobs telling me how big they were and you just wanted to touch them and i was like okay you need to calm down i like your boobies but he would not stop and he He was making, like, the hand grabs, like, as if he was grabbing them.

01:47:51 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 5:

Motorboat? You played the motorboat?

01:47:52 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 2:

And I got up and left.

01:47:53 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 5:

Wow. But you're saying, was he drunk?

01:47:56 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he was hammered.

01:47:57 - 01:48:00 | Speaker 5:

So it wasn't even just a horny. This guy was drunk, and he was.

01:48:00 - 01:48:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah.

01:48:02 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

01:48:02 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 2:

But he said 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

01:48:04 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 4:

1 in the afternoon. Was it, like, on a Sunday for the Lions game, or, like?

01:48:09 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 2:

It was on Memorial weekend.

01:48:11 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so it was a party weekend. Well, but that's weird, though, that, you know, you get that drunk. Like, do you feel bad and feel like you have to drive him home, or do you just let him be?

01:48:21 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I let him be. First off, I was not going to let him in my car.

01:48:25 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You don't want a drunk guy that's sitting there trying to grab your boobs in there. I know. That sucks, too, because you don't want the guy to get behind the wheel of a car, but is it your responsibility if you're out with him? I don't know. Roy, what's up?

01:48:37 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 3:

What's up, man? First time, all the time. Roy's on the phone. Roy Jones. Who? Roy Jones. Roy Jones. Your turn.

01:48:50 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Roy?

01:48:52 - 01:49:05 | Speaker 3:

I just had a comment on the same situation. It was just we were smoking weed. Like, I was dating a girl. I really liked her. But she could not function without weed. Agitated all the time.

01:49:06 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 5:

And so would you find out that if she wasn't high, she wasn't functional? But if she was high, she was almost too functional.

01:49:15 - 01:49:18 | Speaker 3:

and talkative when she wasn't high and more fun.

01:49:18 - 01:49:19 | Speaker 5:

Really?

01:49:19 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

And then she, like, shut down. Was there a point, though, where it got too much? Yeah, it was just a turnoff. I used to smoke, but, I mean, not to the point I needed it to vibe and hang out.

01:49:35 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you something, though? I wonder how many guys, or I'm sure it's more women, hate when the guy smells or the girl smells like weed.

01:49:44 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 1:

Is that even a thing? anymore i know some people do and some people prefer to consume that way but i feel like those

01:49:51 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 5:

vape pens are way more popular oh my god megan i smell it in intersections of cars yeah i'm like this is crazy you gotta your body's gotta smell

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 6:

but I don't feel like it's as prevalent as it probably could be with the legalization.

01:50:04 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 8:

Since we've been in Eastern Market, man, I feel like I've literally had it on my body, and I'm not doing it. What's up, Robin? Hi.

01:50:11 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Well, we have this friend that we've known for probably 30, 40 years that his wife passed away two years ago, and recently he started dating a woman that every time we see her, she's drunk, she can't walk. He's like, oh, we're out bar hopping, and he never drank. So it was strange, but getting to know her, you know, he's like, oh, she'll get over it. I'm helping her on it. He goes, how do you like her? I go, I don't know her to like her. She's always drunk, and she's very nice, but you don't know her. And then he goes, oh, come on up to the bowling alley with us. We go up there, and she's already wasted when we get there. She can't talk. She's slurring. There's stuff coming out of her mouth. He's trying to feed her, and we're walking out, and she's a babysitter. Yeah, he kept trying. Yeah, and we had everybody looking, and I was just so embarrassed. And my husband's like, never again. We're not doing this again. She's always drunk. It's embarrassing. And, you know, he says to me, what do you think? And I go, your hands fall. I go, I don't understand it. This isn't you. He goes, well, sometimes you get with someone, you start to become like them.

01:51:18 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 8:

Interesting. Yeah, I wonder if that does happen. I wonder.

01:51:20 - 01:51:22 | Speaker 4:

Which is also not good in this case.

01:51:22 - 01:51:52 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, you're hanging out with them. I will say this, that the throw-up drunk is bad. The angry, obnoxious drunk's worse, though. I agree. I agree. Like, throw-up drunk sucks because, obviously, it's messy. But the angry, obnoxious, you're, like, scared for yourself, you know, and others. So, well, all right. You got her number, by the way? See, Kev may one day be dating me. I'm straight.

01:51:52 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 7:

I've been with drunks. I'm not on that.

01:51:54 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Kev's going to stick with the tall girl.

01:51:59 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 6:

Amazonians. Amazonians. We didn't solve the members of this show, but nature already took care of it.

01:52:07 - 01:52:50 | Speaker 8:

This is Mojo in the Morning. All right. We're doing Tate McRae tickets now at 830 this week because of the whole jingle ball thing. So want to win tickets. 01:52:50 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 5:

perfect selena gomez song why am i so excited about that i love you like a love song oh well hold on there you go i like that ring and i squealed i've loved her lately like i've always

01:53:03 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 6:

really loved her but i really fell into a hole of only murders in the building she just got nominated for and she deserves it yeah i mean think of her week i mean that is a great great week

01:53:14 - 01:53:32 | Speaker 4:

yeah so if you have not already heard selena gomez and benny blanco are engaged she was so showing off her huge and beautiful marquee diamond sparkler on her instagram with the caption forever begins now benny blanco commented hey wait that's my wife and taylor swift offered

01:53:32 - 01:53:39 | Speaker 6:

to be a flower girl which i thought was pretty cute which i haven't seen them together in a really long time so i was wondering if they were still friends or not so that's interesting

01:53:39 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 8:

oh yeah well she's been just a little busy but i kind of like this because what it shows you though is that you don't have to be hot, gorgeous to date hot, gorgeous people, though. What do you mean?

01:53:51 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 7:

You're talking about Benny Blanco, right? Benny Blanco is not it. Didn't they put Benny as, like, one of the most sexiest men alive? He was on the list.

01:53:56 - 01:54:01 | Speaker 8:

I think what makes him sexy is his personality. Definitely not his looks.

01:54:01 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 7:

Shout out to Selena, though. When you talked about Murders in the Building, she became the most nominated Latina producer.

01:54:07 - 01:54:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, she's had a week. And she cold, too.

01:54:11 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 7:

Especially when she be flaring up. I think she look even better.

01:54:14 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 4:

Is she still the most followed person on Instagram? I don't know. I feel like her and Kylie kind of went back and forth for a hot minute. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow breaking his silence after his home was broken into on Monday night. And we talked about this yesterday because some details came out via police documents that Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton and not Joe's longtime girlfriend, also named Olivia, was the person who called 911 from his home about that break in.

01:54:42 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 1:

So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one. And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share. So that's all I got to say about that.

01:54:58 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

So I don't know which Olivia he's actually.

01:55:00 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 2:

and which means they are dating if he's saying if he's saying that though it's not just a house

01:55:07 - 01:55:12 | Speaker 4:

sitter there's a story there's a story he did say my privacy was violated in more ways than one so

01:55:12 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 2:

like i got caught well his house was robbed and they also gave up the well yeah yeah we got caught

01:55:19 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 4:

with the girl and now we know who he's with yeah really with oh i'm sorry i'm sorry i got there

01:55:24 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 5:

eventually we're on the same page yeah uh if you are part of bachelor nation a fan of the golden bachelor the star of that show jerry turner announced he has been diagnosed with a blood cancer that diagnosis came earlier this year i cannot print i've never seen this before walden strums macro global i it is a very rare blood cancer to which there is no cure that diagnosis came while he was still married to Teresa, who he met on the show.

01:55:52 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 2:

And I heard him speaking this morning on Good Morning America. He said that's the reason why he divorced, was because of this.

01:56:01 - 01:56:05 | Speaker 5:

I don't think he wants this woman to get all of his money.

01:56:05 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 2:

And I think he's wanting his family to get it, which is interesting.

01:56:09 - 01:56:40 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, this story has gone viral. There's an OnlyFans model who decided it would be a good idea for content purposes to sleep with 101 men in a day. She broke down in tears as she recounted her 24-hour sex marathon. Her name's Lily Phillips. She's 23 years old, had sex with over 100 men in one day back in October because she wanted to create some content for her subscription-based OnlyFans. And she says it was the worst experience of her life.

01:56:41 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 1:

It's not for the weak girls, if I'm honest. It was hard. it's not like just having with someone. Yeah, yeah. Just one in, one out. Like, it feels intense. Wow. Like, more intense than you thought it might.

01:56:57 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 5:

Definitely. She said after guy number 30, she just, like, everything blurred. She only remembers like five or six. Would you want to be guy number 30? Oh, my God. Isn't that weird? It's weird. She said if she didn't have the videos, she wouldn't have known that she even slept with him. That's unreal.

01:57:13 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 3:

By the way, who are her parents? Why? I want to know who her parents are. But like, the reason was wanting to provide content for my fans. Like, that's what we're at.

01:57:22 - 01:57:28 | Speaker 5:

The deal was she would chat with them for five minutes and then sleep with them. I don't think there's a problem with that.

01:57:28 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 4:

These are all consenting adults. Megan. I really don't think there's a problem with that.

01:57:32 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 2:

You don't think there's a problem with sleeping with that many people in one day?

01:57:37 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 4:

If that's what she wants to do, and that's how she's making her income, and she's okay with that, I absolutely think that's fine.

01:57:42 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Were these guys paying to do it, or what was the story? Do we know? That's a good question. I don't know.

01:57:47 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 4:

Either way, she's making OnlyFans content, so somebody's paying to consume the content afterward. She's doing this to profit, and if she's consenting and she's doing it, I don't think it has anything to do with her parents, or what's wrong with her, or how do you feel to be that guy. It doesn't do... Oh, I'm not blaming her parents. Everybody who is there knew what they were doing, and we're okay with it.

01:58:03 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 2:

Wait, but you're saying that a person that says, I'm going to go into this and have sex with a hundred people, more than likely she doesn't know who these people are. in one day you but you don't think that there's and i don't this is not slut shaming this is i think going all right i think there's something to that that you're like you really want to be that famous to do this thing there's other things you can be famous for this is what she likes doing and do we know the other thing i'd like to look into if i was an investigative reporter is how did she make sure that all of these people were clean and and how did she truly

01:58:35 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 4:

protect herself yeah i don't know you can say that about any production company i mean i'm sure where there were things set in place ahead of time.

01:58:42 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Explain why you side with us.

01:58:45 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 4:

Because I do see it as shaming. Why? Because we're blaming her for making poor decisions. She must have bad parents. I can't believe she would do something like this. Like, we're saying her, but like. Yeah.

01:58:59 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, I mean, we just had a, sorry to cut you out. We just had a whole conversation about showing up drunk to a date.

01:59:06 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 4:

I don't think these are comparable.

01:59:08 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 3:

I don't either. This is way worse to me. I just heard

01:59:11 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 2:

Here's the reason why I think that There's something maybe wrong with this I think she's either doing it For the fame or she's doing it for the money

01:59:20 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 5:

Both She's doing it for both

01:59:22 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 2:

And I think that at some point I would sit there and go Man I think that there's other ways that you could do it

01:59:27 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah but that's coming from a morally judgmental place

01:59:30 - 01:59:34 | Speaker 2:

Well maybe that's Morally judgmental I don't know

01:59:34 - 01:59:35 | Speaker 4:

She was crying for a reason

01:59:35 - 01:59:40 | Speaker 2:

That's true by the way If she's crying, obviously she was not happy in her decision to do it.

01:59:40 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 3:

She woke up and realized she smashed a hundred dudes.

01:59:43 - 01:59:47 | Speaker 5:

to see Tate McRae. I couldn't believe this when I heard it. I mean, listen, Tate McRae obviously is huge. I did not know, I went to StubHub and I'm not promoting StubHub when I do this because I honestly think that they overcharge their prices. The price for these Tate McRae resale tickets are people insane? Tate, add a second show so people aren't having to pay so much. We're giving them away for free. You don't have to pay for these. Jana, are you there?

02:00:26 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm here.

02:00:27 - 02:00:31 | Speaker 3:

You're a winner. These are gold. Congratulations.

02:00:32 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Yeah, me and my husband were trying to get him for my daughter, but they still know.

02:00:37 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 3:

Is that her in the background?

02:00:40 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 5:

No, that's a baby. My daughter's at school.

02:00:42 - 02:00:46 | Speaker 3:

I thought she was, if somebody was screaming with joy, that sounded like that was going on.

02:00:46 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 5:

The baby is.

02:00:47 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 3:

Hello, baby. Well, how old's your daughter?

02:00:49 - 02:00:51 | Speaker 5:

Hello. She's 14.

02:00:52 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

02:00:52 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 5:

She should be born in ninth grade, high school.

02:00:55 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 3:

You know what you need to do? What do I need to do? Give her these for Christmas.

02:01:01 - 02:01:04 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Am I going to have them before Christmas?

02:01:04 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, you'll know you got them. Don't worry about it. We'll get them to you before the show. So we'll get all your information.

02:01:10 - 02:01:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you are crazy. I am so excited for her because this wasn't going to happen without you guys.

02:01:18 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 3:

Man, oh, man. Congratulations. Congratulations. Hey, oh, my God. Oh, man. I'm lactating right now. What's going on?

02:01:26 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 5:

What did you just say?

02:01:27 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Hold on. Hold on one second. Jana from Dearborn Heights. Congratulations. Hang on. Tate McCready tickets. More tomorrow at 830 after the throwback throwdown. Are we going to be giving away to you a $1,000 StubHub gift card so that you can go to the game Sunday? It's coming before 930. I got to take a quick break. We'll be back.

02:01:53 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 4:

When your cheating ex gets cheated on. Another War of the Roses at After 9. Christmas lights and co-workers, they hang together, but only half of them work, and the other half really aren't that bright.

02:02:08 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 3:

Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning. Home of the War of the Roses coming up. Kevin! Quick question here as we get ready for the holidays. If you are proposing on Christmas, is that the only thing that you get for the person that you're proposing to, your future spouse? Or can you just do the ring? I asked this question for a friend. No, I asked this question just because I'm wondering. When people get engaged over Christmas, do you buy also a gift? Or is it a complete cop-out? Because I think it's a cop-out if that's what you're thinking that is. Really?

02:03:11 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 1:

That would be a great gift. Really? Yeah. And very, very magical and romantic.

02:03:16 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 3:

If you got engaged over Christmas, I want to know. I ask this question actually also because, you know, Joe has a ring. He got a ring for his girlfriend. I'm assuming it's for his girlfriend because he still hasn't given it to her. And I don't know when it's going to happen. My son, Joe, from The Joe Show, he bought the ring. He was very open. I'm not giving out information that, you know, his girlfriend doesn't know. He's talked about it on his radio show, his show called The Joe Show, which you can listen to mornings in Tampa on 93.3 FLZ. And then, of course, afternoons on Channel 955 in Detroit. The iHeartRadio app has both of them, but he still has not proposed. And I keep waiting. Every time Joe calls or talks, I say, Chelsea, you talked to him today? Yeah. What's his story? He hasn't said anything. And then, you know, the holidays came like Christmas or, I'm sorry, Thanksgiving. I thought for sure, okay, something may be happening. No, it didn't happen. So I wonder if it maybe will happen over the holidays.

02:04:19 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Maybe that's what she wants.

02:04:21 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 2:

Is she a big, do you know if she's a big Christmas person? Like, is this her favorite holiday?

02:04:25 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I honestly don't know. I've not asked that question before.

02:04:29 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 1:

I say that because, like, that, you know, I could see that that being, like, a dream of somebody's that they want to get, you know, proposed to at Christmas time.

02:04:39 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

i think that times are ridiculously hard and if that is the mindset and your partner's understanding of that because you guys talk about finances and all that stuff the ring alone is good but i also feel like even if you get an additional gift that's not crazy expensive i think that's the better way to go like ring cleaner

02:05:00 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 1:

No, that would be so lame.

02:05:01 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 2:

Like a thing to hold your ring when you're...

02:05:04 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 1:

No, like, you know what I mean? It's just something else to let them know, like, you know, that's not the only thing.

02:05:10 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Kayla, what's going on? Hi, how are you?

02:05:12 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 1:

Drink cleaner.

02:05:14 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you guys?

02:05:16 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 2:

We're doing good. So if you get engaged, is that your gift? This happened to you.

02:05:22 - 02:05:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's totally the gift. What else do you need? That's probably what they're asking for anyways.

02:05:26 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you did get engaged over the holidays, over Christmas, and you opened that? He did everything on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve?

02:05:37 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 6:

It was the day we were celebrating with my family back in Minnesota, so he tied it to our dog's collar.

02:05:44 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

02:05:45 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 6:

And then my dog came in.

02:05:47 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 2:

And there were no other stocking stuffers for you?

02:05:50 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 6:

Nothing. Nothing.

02:05:52 - 02:06:06 | Speaker 2:

What about a shoehorn? What about a dog collar? two horns are necessary i don't know i i just sit there and i look at it and i think to myself that you're choosing this time of the year because you don't want to buy anything else

02:06:06 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 7:

as a gift i feel like it's i'm telling you girls don't care if the if you have been like wanting that proposal in that ring i don't i you don't need to give me anything else because what what you're so elated yeah i don't know i i just think that you're gonna show off anyway yep

02:06:26 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 2:

I just think that that is, you know, it's a good show-off gift, but you still want something, right?

02:06:32 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I feel like I'm on the side of, no, that's the only gift. Because anything else is a waste of money at that point. Because to y'all point, that's the only thing that she don't care about.

02:06:39 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 2:

But when you buy a gift for a girl, you don't buy her just one gift for this.

02:06:43 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, but you're not, you're not, yeah.

02:06:46 - 02:06:47 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Ty? Hi.

02:06:48 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I agree that the ring is enough. But unfortunately, like for my best friend, she got proposed to at dinner time. So in the morning, you have to wake up, you have to exchange gifts. And like her, of course, like a ring is expensive. So she understood later, but she called me and she was so upset. And of course I knew, but like, she got like a lot of sock stuffer type things. Like he got her socks, like a tumbler and some other like little small things. Wait, so tell us what she said.

02:07:17 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 2:

What did she say when she called you?

02:07:20 - 02:07:25 | Speaker 7:

This broke fast. Oh, my God. No. They didn't end up getting married, did they?

02:07:26 - 02:07:41 | Speaker 4:

They did. And she was just mad in the moment. Like, she's really a nice person. But if I woke up and I got some, like, you know, little things and I got him, like, a really nice gift. Like, she got him, like, a really nice watch. Like, and she paid off the flight on the West Names. So she was really upset.

02:07:41 - 02:07:47 | Speaker 2:

So she called you, her best friend in the world, and she says, Ty, what's her first name?

02:07:49 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 4:

Mary.

02:07:50 - 02:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Let's say, Ty, it's me, Mary. Yeah, Mary. That broke son of a bitch. I can't believe, and what did you say? Did you say, oh, he's a really nice guy, he means well, or did you jump on? Yeah, I hate that guy.

02:08:04 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 4:

No, I jumped on because she's my best friend. I was like, no, he didn't, girl.

02:08:07 - 02:08:12 | Speaker 1:

All he got me was a wedding ring. Can you believe it? This man proposed to me.

02:08:12 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 2:

But she didn't know yet, though. She didn't know that he got her just a wedding ring.

02:08:16 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I'm thinking it was dinner the night before. Sorry, because in my head. That's how we do it. He didn't propose until later. Until the next morning.

02:08:23 - 02:08:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:08:24 - 02:08:27 | Speaker 7:

I gotcha. I miss that. Oh, no.

02:08:27 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 2:

He actually proposed that night. That bastard did it so horribly. He should have done it in the morning.

02:08:33 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 7:

See, I don't think he's a cheap bastard. I just think he's dumb. Because you at least have to throw off the scent of the dog, right?

02:08:41 - 02:08:52 | Speaker 2:

Although that's when you know who you really get him engaged to. Because if she really mother-ass you, then you're like, do I really want to marry her? I mean, she's a superficial, you know? Maybe that was the thought.

02:08:52 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 4:

No, she was really nice about it. She vented to me because I'm best friend, but she was like, oh, thank you. You know, they were fine. This was great. Yeah.

02:09:01 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 2:

I love it. This is a happy one. An iTunes gift card. What's up, Sabrina?

02:09:07 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Hi. So I got engaged last Christmas, 2023, and I had no idea, but we both said we weren't doing gifts that year. so he filled my entire stocking full of stuff like things were pouring over the mantle and i'm over here with like a couple of things for him and after i opened all of my stocking stuff for stuff then he read this whole poem and got down on one knee and i had no idea that he was

02:09:37 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

doing that um but yeah it was perfect you know what's amazing i wonder if there are women or you know whoever or guys like in relationships where they proposed to you and you only got them like socks you know what i mean like they proposed and you so and you're like well i thought we weren't gonna because we're saving up for potentially getting and they all

02:10:00 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 8:

of a sudden they bite in and you're like oh yeah but what if you are saving up for a house i would be so angry that you spent money on a ring oh i wouldn't down payment no i'm so happy i'd be so

02:10:10 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 5:

mad what's up jennifer hi so i was in a position where we had talked about getting engaged and that girl is waiting right she knows the rings they're they're waiting like every holiday well my fiance or boyfriend at the time knew that like you go Thanksgiving is it going to happen Christmas is it going to happen so on Christmas morning well now 19 years ago 17 years ago sorry did the math wrong um he got me all the presents like they weren't expensive things but like he still did the whole Christmas probably on like a dollar store budget and then afterwards we were watching a christmas story and he said did you get everything you wanted and i was like yeah and i look over and he's down on one knee oh that's awesome that actually makes me cry like i

02:11:03 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 6:

like i love that christmas proposals are so romantic i'm telling you you're wrong until

02:11:09 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 9:

unless you get like all the family together and you start watching a movie and the movie is our family favorite movie the family stone and you go am i the girl they don't want to marry

02:11:20 - 02:11:26 | Speaker 6:

hey she ends up joining the family just in a different way okay that movie's like 20 years

02:11:26 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 9:

old spoiler what's up amy also the best movie i mean hey so i would agree i would agree with

02:11:32 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 4:

shannon a christmas engagement is super romantic however it is a it is a thing where the ring is actually a contract it's not a gift so if something happens and you don't get married

02:11:43 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 9:

or you break up you have to give it but here's the story though amy i wonder if it's different if you get proposed to on Christmas.

02:11:53 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 8:

It's still a gift. No, it is. On Christmas and birthdays, it's different.

02:11:57 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 9:

I wonder if...

02:11:58 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I actually think it is because... Yeah. I wonder if the court thinks of it different. When it's under the guise of a gift, I don't believe it holds that contract anymore.

02:12:07 - 02:12:11 | Speaker 9:

We need to call a judge on that one because I'm telling you, maybe that's the reason why you do it that way.

02:12:11 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's what my fiancé told me he would never propose to me on Christmas just for that reason because somebody told him that and so he researched it. So I'm going to...

02:12:19 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 9:

That is true.

02:12:20 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 7:

That is true on any ordinary day. Amazing. But when it is posed as a gift, it's different.

02:12:25 - 02:12:34 | Speaker 9:

Think about that, guys. Yeah. Because if it doesn't work out, you ain't getting it back. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. Thank you for the call. Bye. Bye. WKQI Detroit.

02:12:35 - 02:12:46 | Speaker 2:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:12:46 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 9:

All righty. It's Mojo in the Morning. Do you know who this realtor is? Coming up here in a second, we bust a cheater. If you ever suspect that somebody's cheating on you, text cheater to 95500.

02:13:00 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:06 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 9:

Hey, Layla.

02:13:08 - 02:13:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:13:09 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 9:

So tell us why you think he's cheating on you.

02:13:13 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay. He's a realtor. and he has a second phone, and it's like a car phone, what he calls it, and we get in fights about paying for it because he says it's for work, but work isn't paying for it, and we can't really afford it.

02:13:34 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 9:

And this phone is a phone that he just uses in his car? Yeah. So he keeps it in his car and uses it in his car.

02:13:41 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 6:

For work. Yes. But work doesn't pay for it.

02:13:45 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 9:

correct but does he then have another phone that he uses and talks to people um about uh work and houses or whatever he does real estate wise

02:13:58 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 3:

i mean he has his like his regular phone that he's had forever and then there's just this other one that like he won't give me the password to it because it's got the sensitive company information on it oh that's my first red flag because i feel

02:14:13 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 8:

bad when i bought a house i was texting my realtor like all of the time right weekends late at night whatever so i kind of understand the wanting the separation so you can like shut down at night

02:14:23 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 9:

but the not having a access to it sketchy i i yeah i know a lot of uh real estate guys in in women that i they they're kind of work on their own like they don't really work for anybody other than themselves like they kind of sell themselves so i think it's kind of interesting also that he's

02:14:41 - 02:14:48 | Speaker 3:

saying that this is the company's phone yeah but the company's not paying for it so that's where

02:14:48 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 9:

it's okay like weird right right but you guys are you guys are paying for it but he's got stuff all right so you started getting suspicious because of that but then there's other things that have made you suspicious too I'll see you later.

02:15:00 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 5:

yeah it's just i don't know i just it just there's something off and i i mean i did finally get get the phone number from him for the second phone like at first he wasn't even going to give me that what did you do to get the phone number um i was in the car one time and it just he must have used it because it was unlocked and i called my own phone from it okay and so i would be able

02:15:26 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 2:

to save that number so you want us to call up and do one of the war of the roses where we have kp who's a member of our show call him up just to see what he is like when he's talking to her on the phone correct and he's your husband yeah we've been married 12 years you guys have kids yeah wow all right we're gonna make the phone call and call him up and see what he acts like when we are dialing them and see if there's anything suspicious about it. Hang on the phone. Mute your phone, okay?

02:16:02 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:16:12 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:16:14 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Is this Scott?

02:16:17 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 4:

Speaking.

02:16:19 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey. I found your... I had a friend give me your number. I'm looking to rent. a house oh great um uh what are you looking for um well i'm not looking for an apartment i'm probably looking for for a house um but i do have questions about utilities and stuff there's there is one that i found on realtor.com that has what i'm looking for i just didn't know are you guys doing snow removal or is that something i'm going to have to do um yeah yeah uh well let me let me

02:17:00 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 4:

ask uh let me ask him about that the couple who owns this house are their first time renters

02:17:07 - 02:17:13 | Speaker 3:

so okay yeah i get that i can be patient if you want to get back to me

02:17:13 - 02:17:27 | Speaker 4:

and actually i'm not sure how you got this this number i don't usually give this number out um can you call me at this one instead 248

02:17:27 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 3:

yeah I can do that I'm sorry I didn't know that that that's awkward I'm sorry

02:17:34 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 4:

it's good it's alright

02:17:39 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 3:

cool sure I can call you

02:17:42 - 02:17:48 | Speaker 4:

are you from where are you moving from

02:17:48 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 3:

yeah I'm from I'm just moving for work.

02:17:56 - 02:17:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, cool. Just you or you got a boyfriend?

02:18:00 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 3:

No, just me. I might get some roommates.

02:18:05 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 4:

Cool. Love roommate life.

02:18:09 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 3:

Living the dream.

02:18:12 - 02:18:26 | Speaker 2:

Why do you care about that? Hello? Scott, why do you care about her personal situation? If she's calling you just to get information about renting from you?

02:18:27 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 4:

Who is this?

02:18:29 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 2:

Scott, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. And your wife, Layla, contacted us because she was worried that you're cheating on her with a secret phone. Scott? Scott, are you there? Did he hang up the phone? His line looks like it's still on. No, it's not. Layla?

02:19:10 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:19:10 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 2:

I mean, he started off like he seemed very helpful. And then he got to a point where, I don't know if you call that being ultra nosy or if he was trying to gather information.

02:19:26 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 1:

I'm still just confused on the phone number. Because if you said that this is the number that he uses for quote unquote work, but he told KP something totally the opposite.

02:19:35 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 3:

Right.

02:19:36 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 1:

That doesn't make sense to me. How many phones do you think he has?

02:19:40 - 02:19:47 | Speaker 5:

I just, I don't, I truly don't know what's going on right now. And I'm just, I'm almost even more confused than I was when I called you guys this morning. So.

02:19:47 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Is there anybody that's listening that's in this business that can tell us is that common? Just like, do you need multiple phones and do you need to be secretive with your phone number and have another phone? It doesn't sound right.

02:20:01 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 1:

Do we think he has just two, or could there be more? I don't know. I don't know, but the part about him wanting to know my personal life, I can understand if he's asking me about bedrooms and how many I need, but to ask who is going to be in it, I feel like it's too far.

02:20:18 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 2:

And personal stuff. Yeah. Not just roommates. All right. Hang on one second, Layla.

02:20:26 - 02:20:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:20:27 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:20:29 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 3:

I absolutely love it.

02:20:31 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:20:32 - 02:20:39 | Speaker 2:

Lions tickets after we get done with our Roses calls. This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:20:39 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 3:

Mojo.

02:20:40 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning show. were the roses busting a cheater and a realtor who cheating on his wife and kids this morning talking to our kp i'd love to know about the whole separate phone thing but i also want to know too are there any listeners that ever busted their significant other boyfriend girlfriend husband wife cheating because they had a mystery phone what's up and how you doing good good how are you good a little bit of a defense for this guy what do you think he could be using this phone for

02:21:29 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 4:

so yeah a little bit um i'm in the mortgage industry and um i keep a separate phone because you do receive personal information, social security numbers, things of that nature, and you do want to keep it separate, right? I do keep mine in my car because I don't want to be bothered after hours for that very reason. The other thing is, if he's a realtor working for himself, the phone is written off as an expense on taxes, so the company may not own it, but it's an expense to his business.

02:22:02 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 2:

Let me ask you this question, though. If he's using that phone, and it's a separate phone, but it's not the phone that she knows how he's getting customers by, doesn't that seem a little suspicious? So you're advertising your business on another phone?

02:22:19 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 4:

That part does slightly, yeah. But it sounds like there's a third phone number, possibly.

02:22:23 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's the part that I'm wondering about on this one here. Is there actually more than just the two phones? Maggie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

02:22:33 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 5:

Hey. I've been a licensed realtor since 1995, and I've only had one phone. The realtor broker who your license is under, they have an office phone, so they can call that number, and then they can connect to your cell phone number. You don't have to pay for two phones.

02:22:52 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 2:

So you think this is all a bunch of crap? This guy is definitely using that phone for what he sounded like he was doing with KP.

02:23:00 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because even your phone number is on your own website. On the internet, if people want to call you.

02:23:06 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 2:

I mean, maybe things have changed since 95. But no, but are you currently doing it?

02:23:12 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm still a licensed realtor with Real Estate One. Most of the people in my office have one phone.

02:23:19 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so she's saying that she's a veteran. She's the OG of realtors.

02:23:23 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 5:

You just said most. Are there people there who have two phones? Not that I know of, because basically you have two phones with the office phone calling the main number. they can then connect you straight from the office number to your cell phone.

02:23:39 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 2:

All right. Where are you practicing? Where do you do your business?

02:23:45 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 5:

Wayne and Oakland County.

02:23:46 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 2:

And do you have your picture on your for sale signs?

02:23:50 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:23:51 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 2:

I love when people have them and they look like glamour shots.

02:23:55 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, sometimes they do. But, you know, everything's changing real estate right now. Yeah. It's all about you selling yourself. It's really your name and your reputation in the business. You can have a picture out there, but they really go on what your integrity is like in this business.

02:24:11 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Maggie is who you want, by the way, if you're looking to buy a house right there. Move with Maggie. Move with Maggie.

02:24:17 - 02:24:21 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I love you guys. You guys are fantastic. You make my day. Thank you.

02:24:21 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too. Let's go to Whitney here. Hi, Whitney.

02:24:27 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 3:

Good morning.

02:24:28 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

02:24:28 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

um i was just going to kind of piggyback off actually kind of what maggie said but see i work for a private real estate company and in my real estate company they give us a phone and a laptop so for him to say that it's a company phone but he pays for it that's weird doesn't make sense even yeah well even when he said oh i don't give out this number i thought that was weird as well because this is your business phone. That's the only number I give out. I even have business cards.

02:25:00 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 1:

with the number on it so how is that your business phone but you don't give it out i think we can all agree he is absolutely shady yeah yeah that's my problem with this situation i've definitely been in a situation with a guy that was a barber and he claimed he had a different phone for that reason because he was a barber and i found out that it was his own personal phone for a whole separate baby mama so oh geez it is definitely possible oh man that's crazy george what's going on hi buddy

02:25:31 - 02:26:07 | Speaker 7:

hey buddy um point blank he he told his wife it's a business phone he just told kp hey i don't get this number how'd you get the number right i mean that was that you call him right out you just spoke right up like hey why you care if she's single or not like he write it on himself whole thing i don't and all my friends are realtors they all got one phone and boyfriends and husbands look at their phone with no no problem he's he's a rat you need to she needs to be out of denial

02:26:07 - 02:26:19 | Speaker 2:

divorce him right away yeah yeah thank you for the call man i appreciate it we got some uh people who busted a boyfriend or girlfriend or a husband or wife by having a mystery phone jacqueline

02:26:20 - 02:26:23 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, y'all. Good morning. Good morning.

02:26:23 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

02:26:25 - 02:26:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah, I was on a family vacation in Florida, and we were in a condo. And I went, he was sleeping in a different room, so I don't know. I went in for something to see when we're leaving. I look on the dresser, there's a phone. I'm like, that don't look like his phone. So I pick it up. He jumped out of the bed, snatched it out of my hand, went running out of the condo. I go chasing him around. He throws it in the garbage can.

02:26:48 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I mean, you know something's up with that. Make it more obvious, buddy. All I can say about War of the Roses today is cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. What a cheater. What a cheater.

02:27:00 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:27:01 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 4:

All day long.

02:27:02 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 2:

Bye, Jacqueline. Take care of yourself.

02:27:04 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 4:

That's so funny. Thank you, you too. Throw in the garbage can. Like, that's going to help.

02:27:09 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 2:

Pam, what's going on?

02:27:10 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 3:

uh i had a husband use the uaw strike as a cover for cheating he i went to go pay our cell phone or our credit card bill and there was a purchase for a track phone like a prepaid phone and uh i questioned him about it and all the extra shifts and it took it took a minute and And me reaching out to the phone number that I found on it, I found out he was cheating with a co-worker.

02:27:42 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Man. Well, that's too bad. I'm sorry that you had to deal with that.

02:27:49 - 02:27:53 | Speaker 3:

All those extra shifts, you know, hey, maybe I can get a little extra money.

02:27:54 - 02:27:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true.

02:27:56 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 3:

I like your attitude.

02:27:57 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Make sure he gives you your peace. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. But a lot of people say that they know, and we bleeped out the area of town that this guy was in, because I made sure they wanted to keep, especially Layla's privacy, but a lot of people know who this guy is. You know, realtors, they all know each other. You ever notice that? It's a very small world.

02:28:20 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 6:

Really, really cool. Cool prizes, by the way, that you can win here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. We got a chance for you to win tickets to see Post Malone and Jelly Roll. They're going to be coming to Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. They will be there on May the 18th. And if you text POST to 95500, you got a shot to win. POST, POST, text that to 95500, and you could be going. Congratulations to all of our winners that have won tickets to anything that we've given away. I had so many thank yous yesterday for Jingle Ball. Wasn't that amazing to see how many people were appreciative of the fact that they got a chance to go to a great concert? So that's cool. And by the way, again, shout-outs to everybody that was there. But shout-out to everybody that was checking out our social media and the post on this stuff. We had so many people from not even just Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo that were Teddy Swims fans from around the world. And then that NCT Dreams. Oh, my God. We were trending because those guys were here too, which was cool. And watch tomorrow night. Tomorrow night, listen to the stations and get ready to watch the Jingle Ball in New York, which is going to be incredible. I think there's even more people that are going to be there. Is Tate McCray

02:32:53 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 2:

going to be at that one, I think? I think so. And special shout out to One Ho. Not to be mistaken. For One Ho.

02:33:00 - 02:33:02 | Speaker 3:

We learned that one.

02:33:03 - 02:33:05 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It's not like

02:33:05 - 02:33:08 | Speaker 4:

we were saying it wrong for like three months. Wasn't it One Ho?

02:33:08 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 1:

We're never even one ho. It's 1-0. It's 1-0.

02:33:11 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 2:

He told me right before we went on stage. I'm like, I can't commit this to memory right now.

02:33:16 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 4:

We've been conditioned. All right. The University of North Carolina making a big announcement last night that I don't think surprised too many people. We kind of saw it coming. They have hired Bill Belichick to be their next football coach.

02:33:30 - 02:33:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:33:30 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 4:

Did I not give you anything?

02:33:32 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 3:

You did not, but that's okay. I got Adam Schefter.

02:33:35 - 02:33:50 | Speaker 1:

I'm so sorry. Bill Belichick is finalizing a deal to become that next head coach at North Carolina. He now will be affectionately known as Chapel Bill. He is leaving the NFL, where he was victories away from becoming the...

02:33:50 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 3:

Do you know why they call him Chapel Bill? Because it's Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where North Carolina is.

02:33:55 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's a good...

02:33:56 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 3:

So now they're going to actually call it Chapel Bill. I like that.

02:34:00 - 02:34:12 | Speaker 4:

All right, all right. This will be the very first college job for Belichick. His dad, Steve, I guess, was a Tar Heels assistant coach back in the 1950s. Don't have any financial terms. You said you heard a rumor. I know it's a five-year deal, but it's crazy.

02:34:13 - 02:34:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it'll be, I think, I think it'll be the biggest one in sports. I wonder if we're going to start seeing this happen more now that there's the NIL stuff going on in college sports. I wonder if we'll start seeing these guys who were great. I don't think it will happen in basketball because I think basketball is a different thing. But I think the football, you might see a lot of these football-minded guys. Like, maybe Ben Johnson doesn't go to the NFL or stay in the NFL. Maybe he goes to a college team.

02:34:40 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 2:

I'm still unsure of why he's not an NFL head coach.

02:34:43 - 02:34:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, he chose not to. So it was his choice. He turned down Washington Commanders at the last minute to come back here because I think he might be the highest paid.

02:34:53 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm talking about Bill Belichick.

02:34:54 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Bill Belichick?

02:34:55 - 02:34:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

02:34:55 - 02:35:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I thought you were talking about Ben Johnson. No. No, I'm surprised by that, too. either

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 2:

that he should wait it out and take it on as some kind of good team you know in other football dirty

02:35:05 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 4:

the nfl is back in jay-z and moving forward with that partnership amid the lawsuit that was filed a couple of days ago claiming that jay-z raped a 13 year old girl along with diddy during a press conference that was held yesterday ahead of the christmas day games on netflix nfl commissioner roger goodell was asked about the league's association with jay-z and he said we are changing nothing specifically he said they are aware of the civil allegations they are aware that litigation is taking place but the relationship is not changing and that includes preparations to produce the next super bowl halftime show featuring kendrick lamar is anybody performing

02:35:43 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 3:

on christmas day beyonce okay that makes sense because i saw she had posted that she's got something dropping on netflix on christmas day as well so i'm sure they'll drop it right after

02:35:54 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 4:

the game cowboy christmas for the performance you guys have heard about this drone story that's happening over on the east coast like dozens and dozens of drones being spotted in the sky specifically across new jersey prompting some pretty heightened security concerns and mounting frustrations from residents military personnel and federal state and local officials while The New Jersey's governor says is saying, excuse me, that there's no threat to public safety here. Others are going, well, then where are these drones coming from? This is the deputy press secretary of the Pentagon. Her name is Sabrina Singh speaking about this.

02:36:39 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 3:

At this time, we have no evidence that these activities are coming from a foreign entity or the work of an adversary. We're going to continue to monitor what is happening. But, you know, at no point were our installations threatened.

02:36:54 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 4:

They're over like very interesting areas. And that's part of the problem.

02:36:57 - 02:37:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, they're saying that they're flying it over areas that they believe, like they think there's some military, you know, property and stuff. But then they also said it's Trump's country club that's up in that area. But the interesting thing is one of the Congress people from New Jersey is saying that he believes that these things originated from a ship that is off the coast that is an Iranian ship. Yeah. And they think that this could be terrorist related. Remember when they said the balloons that were flying in the sky was nothing and it turned out they were Chinese spy balloons? Yeah. So, I don't know. To me, I don't understand why. If somebody's got these drones flying around, you don't know who it's from. Shoot them down.

02:37:39 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 4:

That's what I don't get either. Seriously.

02:37:41 - 02:37:43 | Speaker 3:

Well, there's people around, right?

02:37:43 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, shoot them down before they drop something on those people. I think that there's ways that we can get rid of them.

02:37:50 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 4:

Another political dirty, FBI Director Christopher Wray saying yesterday he plans to resign at the end of President Biden's term in January.

02:37:57 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 1:

After weeks of careful thought, I've decided the right thing for the Bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current administration in January and then step down.

02:38:08 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 4:

A brand new Yellowstone spinoff is in the works, focusing on the characters of Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler. And Kelly Riley and Cole Hauser have both signed deals already, so they are already on board. Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan is working on creative for this spinoff, and he says other cast members from Yellowstone are likely to return as well. This series will be the first Yellowstone spinoff to actually take place in the present day. And it is Thursday, which means you're Masked Singer. Oh, God. Let's go. Shut up. You get so mad about the Masked Singer.

02:38:46 - 02:38:53 | Speaker 2:

I just think it's a dumb show, but go ahead. It is. That's why it's fine. Let's find out who the non-actor celebrity is.

02:38:54 - 02:39:06 | Speaker 4:

So we heard from the Strawberry Shortcake, who has a very good voice. I needed to lose you to find me. Woo! This dancing was killing us all.

02:39:06 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 2:

Give us a hint to what kind of work makes a celebrity.

02:39:10 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 4:

She was a singer, and I believe on a Disney show, if I'm not mistaken. She sounds great. Is it the red-headed girl? No. It's AJ from Allie and AJ.

02:39:23 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 3:

I love her. I knew you were. I did that for you. I know.

02:39:27 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 2:

Excited too, Kat. Remember when they released that song as an adult version? It's so bad. It's great.

02:39:32 - 02:39:36 | Speaker 4:

You know, that's the only reason I play this now is because it makes you two so mad.

02:39:36 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm not mad. I just don't know AJ.

02:39:38 - 02:39:38 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:39:38 - 02:39:39 | Speaker 4:

Let me Google it.

02:39:39 - 02:39:52 | Speaker 3:

Yes, you do. Yes, you do. You do. They had a great song. They re-released it as adults. It was an adult version of it. It was that birthday song. Am I right? Allie and AJ was on the Disney Channel or are making that up in my head? They had that movie Cowbells. It was a Disney Channel original movie.

02:39:52 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 4:

For all of today's Dirty Catch-Up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:39:57 - 02:39:58 | Speaker 3:

Get more dirt.

02:39:58 - 02:40:08 | Speaker 1:

And Mojo in the Morn on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Damn, the size of my snow angel is more proof that I need to get to Planet Fitness more often.

02:40:09 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:40:19 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Cab is going to talk about something here in a second. I want everybody to oppose him, okay? He's not in the studio, so he can't hear me. I want everybody to call up and go, you're in the wrong, you're in the wrong, you're in the wrong, okay? So when he comes in and tells his story, just tell him flat out what you did, Kev, was completely wrong, out of line, you shouldn't have done it.

02:40:42 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 2:

I literally love doing this. Where is he?

02:40:45 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Lydia, where's Kev at?

02:40:47 - 02:40:48 | Speaker 1:

He said he was coming down to you.

02:40:49 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 4:

I don't see him. He's next up on a topic here right now. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us.

02:40:57 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 3:

There he is.

02:40:58 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 4:

Where were you?

02:40:58 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 3:

I was talking to one of our sales associates, man. Oh, yeah.

02:41:01 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:41:02 - 02:41:04 | Speaker 3:

She's going through a situation. I ain't going to bring no air dogs.

02:41:04 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 4:

All right. Oh, well. Well, I understand you got a situation, too. I understand that you may never go back to Starbucks ever again. Is that true?

02:41:12 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you got to tell me, am I the problem? Am I wrong in this situation? So I went to Target yesterday, and it's one of those Targets that have the Starbucks inside. Yeah. And they close at like 8, I think, or something like that. And I showed up, maybe $7.50, maybe $7.55, maybe $7.57. I don't know. So I walk up to the line because there's no gate or anything. I don't think there ever is a gate. But the person is behind the counter. There's a woman to the side that's waiting on her order to be made and to receive it. And I walk up. And maybe I'm the issue because I said, are you guys still open? But it was more so of like, to me, y'all look open because you back there, she over here waiting. There's no little turnaround, little door. Now he's like, no, we actually closed. But it's not 8 o'clock. And in my mind, when you say you close as a business, you close at 8, you're serving up until it's 8.

02:42:05 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So you're saying that, hey, even though they probably got ahead of time and started cleaning up their stuff and trying to go home for the day, you're saying I'm the customer, the customer's always right.

02:42:17 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Not in this situation. Why? because i think it's like they want to if if the last drink cannot be made by eight o'clock they're

02:42:27 - 02:42:53 | Speaker 3:

they're done yeah so you were kind of a jerk no i agree with you too i fully disagree that's what i'm saying that's what i'm saying i worked at subway maybe i'm not safe food certified but i worked at subway and in my mind that preparing to close is a real thing you yeah let me mop up the back let me chop up let me label things let me do all the things so i can leave as close to eight as possible when I but I don't lock the door until eight so when I worked in retail and we could we

02:42:53 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 2:

would close at nine because I worked in the mall and people would come in at 858 and want to wander around the dang store and then they would buy something and then they would want it gift wrapped because it was free gift wrap and I was a gift wrapper of the store and I wouldn't get out of

02:43:07 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 3:

there then until like 20 after night see that's wrong that at eight what's different well here's the thing you can if i show up at 758 or 757 and i'm order a quick drink i'm not walking around i'm not meandering around the store i'm not lollygagging because i know you in i'm coming in i'm ordering before the time you close it's up to you how fast you gonna make it why don't we do

02:43:27 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 4:

this shannon and i don't agree with you why don't we leave it up to the listeners let's see what the listeners think about this let's see if kev if you think that kev you know should be the customer always right or was kev wrong what do you think kenny hi what's going on guys how you doing your

02:43:49 - 02:44:11 | Speaker 1:

thoughts on this what's your opinion so i just want to say kev's out of pocket on this one especially when you're coming in five minutes before they close like dude when i worked at bk in high school we would have people coming into the drive-through at like five minutes before we were closed. We had already dumped all the food and we were already cleaning and we would just ignore it.

02:44:12 - 02:44:16 | Speaker 3:

Can I point something out to you, Kenny? No, go ahead, Kenny. I want you to fully finish. Go ahead.

02:44:17 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 1:

I'm just saying, you can't. I mean, I understand, like, they're open, but, like, they're trying to get that last customer out. Whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper.

02:44:25 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 3:

You have to be courteous. Okay, here's the thing. Kenny, you said two amazing things in that sentence. You said, one of the things that you said was we're open. hello and the other thing you said is we're not closed so if you're open and you're not closed then why aren't you serving because you want to leave early no you close at eight o'clock

02:44:46 - 02:44:50 | Speaker 4:

cab he's he's he gave you his opinion you don't get your way i'm giving mine

02:44:50 - 02:44:57 | Speaker 3:

it's the king's way exactly kenny's the king you can't always get what you want

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

When I worked at a restaurant and

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 3:

We closed at, say it was 10 o'clock. If you walk in in the 9 o'clock hour, that's really rude.

02:45:05 - 02:45:06 | Speaker 1:

You better be out.

02:45:06 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 3:

It takes longer than that for a full food service. It takes longer than that to make your drink.

02:45:11 - 02:45:23 | Speaker 4:

This is not about being rude. This is about the, okay, so if we want to go off air at 1020, we can just do it even though the show don't end until 1030, right? Because we prepping to leave.

02:45:23 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 5:

You know what, though? If the listeners call with a last-minute song request right now, I got no time to play that song. We got to go. You know what I mean? So I'm sorry.

02:45:33 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

02:45:35 - 02:45:36 | Speaker 5:

Layla, what's your thoughts?

02:45:37 - 02:45:49 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so I work at a full-service restaurant. Some days we close at 9, some days we close at 10. But if somebody's coming in, even like 20 minutes before we close, no. Absolutely not. Oh, my God.

02:45:49 - 02:45:50 | Speaker 2:

Come on, y'all. I'm sorry.

02:45:50 - 02:45:51 | Speaker 3:

No, because it's going to take longer than that.

02:45:51 - 02:46:01 | Speaker 6:

You had all day. You had all day. You had all day. I'm telling you, it's not that important. If you're that hungry, whatever. We got our closing stuff.

02:46:01 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 4:

I'm not telling you where I work. You have a life, too. Where is Mr. and Mrs. Starbucks? Do they know that all these places are just closing early?

02:46:08 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:46:08 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's the difference between, like, a corporate and, you know, like a mom-and-pop

02:46:13 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 6:

place.

02:46:13 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm talking corporate. Yeah.

02:46:14 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 6:

The times are the times for a reason. No, we have a word for that. It's called the last toll. Yeah. Okay, so let me ask you this. Don't be a last toll.

02:46:22 - 02:46:24 | Speaker 4:

There you go, the last toll. I like that. Can I ask you another question?

02:46:25 - 02:46:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:46:25 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 4:

Are you mad if places open 10 minutes after they say they're supposed to? No. Oh, so what if you're...

02:46:33 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 1:

Because life happens, man. That's different, though. That is different because the time that it is... When it's in regards to closing, it's the time that it is going to take them to prepare your order and then clean up. It's going to put them over their time.

02:46:52 - 02:47:04 | Speaker 3:

Because opening should not be the employees show up at open. Opening is the employees are set up, it's prepped and it's ready to go. Like everything's ready for them to start preparing whatever you're ordering. So they don't.

02:47:04 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 6:

Our openers come in 30 minutes before. Right. And, you know.

02:47:08 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I'm sorry. I just hit the wrong button.

02:47:10 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 4:

So when it's 6 a.m. and they're open and they're ready to go and you're there at 6 a.m., they can take your order. But if they say they close at 8 p.m., then that means you cannot come at 8 p.m. The listeners don't agree with you.

02:47:21 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 5:

None of these people are agreeing with you.

02:47:23 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 4:

I don't give a damn if they agree with me. I'm telling you how I feel.

02:47:26 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 5:

Jen, what are your thoughts, Jen?

02:47:29 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 6:

I look like I answered a gun. That's it. Kevin is completely right on this.

02:47:32 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 5:

What's that?

02:47:33 - 02:47:37 | Speaker 6:

What? Kevin is completely right on this. No. It's you close. No, he's not.

02:47:37 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 5:

I know you must be saying the wrong thing. Wait, wait. Jen, did you? Really quick. Do you not listen to us and play along with what we said? Did you tune in in the middle of this?

02:47:49 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 6:

I've been listening to you guys since Sunday's clock this morning. Did you not hear what I said

02:47:54 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 5:

right before we went into this topic? Kev's not in the studio. What? I don't want anybody to call up and agree with him. See? How dare you? Oh my god.

02:48:04 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 1:

How dare you? Dude, I'll be ordering that Starbucks in 30 seconds.

02:48:10 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 5:

There we go. Okay, here we go. I can't believe we... Here's the thing. I'll order, but I'll feel bad about you. Some people can't play along with games, Jen.

02:48:22 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 6:

I'm bad at following directions, I do.

02:48:24 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 5:

You are bad at following. And so is Kev. So is Kev, too, showing up at 8.57, whatever time it was. What's up, Rob? Hi.

02:48:34 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 7:

Hey, Mojo. Kev, I think you're way out of line. Yeah, I love it. I'm not with. There you go. I mean, you are way out of line. You knew what time they closed, right?

02:48:46 - 02:48:50 | Speaker 4:

No, see, here's the thing. I didn't go in there for Starbucks. I went to Target. And you know what? I was like, huh. They're open.

02:48:51 - 02:49:00 | Speaker 5:

What's funny is he was going to probably order a drink that had like five or six extra ingredients in it. Give me a Vinci soy chai latte, six pumps, no water.

02:49:00 - 02:49:03 | Speaker 7:

I think it's not what you get. So put the shoe on the other foot, Kev.

02:49:04 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:49:04 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 7:

By the way, hey. If you were working there and they said I wanted you to do that, would you do it?

02:49:10 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, probably. No, here's the analogy. Christmas vacation coming up. This is going to happen, by the way. Lydia, mark my words. Christmas vacation's coming up. We tell all the salespeople, turn in the recorded commercials that we need to do. We'll record them on Wednesday, which is three days before the Christmas vacation. I want every salesperson here. Listen up to me, guys. You're all out there. I want you to turn Kev's recordings into him at 1031 on Friday morning.

02:49:43 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 1:

Love our sales team, but they're still going to do that. WKQI Detroit

02:49:53 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 4:

WVKS Toledo Three great stations

02:49:56 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 5:

One stupid show

02:50:00 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning, live. Oh, that is such a great one. That is so good.

02:50:06 - 02:50:09 | Speaker 4:

And you know what pisses me off is you weren't even getting really that mad.

02:50:10 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean, yeah. I'm just going. Kevin's a good guy. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. I want to tell this story, and I want to ask you guys, do you think it's rude to have sex in someone else's house? Here's the story. So a buddy of mine had some friends stay with him this past weekend. It was a buddy that stayed with him that is, guys, this is funny. This guy's 47, 48 years old, and he's dating this 28-year-old girl that he recently met. And his parents live in town here, but he lives in New York. So he came to town and did not want to stay with his parents because he thought it was very awkward to bring home this young girl to the parents' house and spend the night.

02:50:55 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 4:

Right.

02:50:56 - 02:52:00 | Speaker 1:

And yet he didn't want to go get a hotel. So instead of going to get a hotel, he stayed at a mutual friend's house. When they were there staying in that house, they were staying in a guest room. But he found out that this guy was having sex with this young 20-something-year-old girl while they were up in the morning getting out and about and getting their shower and all that stuff in. So they had sex in his shower. So he pointed out a group text to all of us, including him, and said, he is a rude mother effer. He had sex in his bathroom, in the bathroom there in his house. Is it rude to have sex in somebody else's house? If you're a guest in someone's house, is it rude to go and have sex there? Here's the part that I thought was the most interesting. When he was arguing about them having sex. Because people were like, well, how do you know if they're not having sex in the bed and stuff like that? He said, the shower is one thing, though. It's the same shower that his kids shower in. Oh, okay. It's the mutual bathroom shower that they have for all the rooms upstairs in his house.

02:52:00 - 02:52:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I was going to say, when I have people stay with me, I assume that they're having, like, I'm washing the sheets no matter what. I am washing the sheets, whether I think you did or I think you didn't, they're getting washed as soon as you leave. So, like, but the shower, like, if they were showering in the kids' shower and I knew that was happening, I think I'd be pretty upset.

02:52:20 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 1:

That's different. He said.

02:52:21 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 4:

Even though you can clean it, it's still like, I don't know.

02:52:23 - 02:52:46 | Speaker 1:

One of the group texts actually is one of our buddies who sent what looked like, it was actually raindrops. It was one of the fit emojis. It looked like raindrops, but he meant his aces. There's little spermies all over the shower right now while his kids are taking baths. His kids ain't the only kids in there. Exactly. Is it rude to have sex in someone else's house, Craig? Hi.

02:52:47 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I'm going to say no. I think, you know, it depends on the house, like, at the parents, for sure. I mean, you don't want your parents hearing you have sex. But if it's just a buddy's house, I mean, you might want to ask them. But I just assumed, you know, I would say I would just assume that that's a possibility.

02:53:07 - 02:53:11 | Speaker 1:

Really? So you think if you have people that are staying as house guests that they're having sex anyway?

02:53:12 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 2:

Probably, yeah. I mean, especially if it's a 47-year-old and a 28 or 26-year-old, whatever you said. Yeah, I'm going to assume that that's happening.

02:53:22 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm like, I said to him, I go, why did he not just stay at, like, there's a couple of hotels and stuff. And he said because there was, like, some kind of a holiday rate that was, like, crazy at the hotels.

02:53:31 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I think it's so rude.

02:53:33 - 02:53:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. To sleep in somebody's house?

02:53:36 - 02:53:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:53:36 - 02:53:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't like, listen, I don't think there's anything different than them having sex in the bed and you pooping in the bed. I know that sounds weird. Pooping in the bed?

02:53:45 - 02:53:48 | Speaker 4:

Please do not poop. You mean pooping in the toilet?

02:53:48 - 02:53:55 | Speaker 1:

No. Pooping in the bed. Pooping in the bed. You're leaving behind bodily stuff. It's not the same.

02:53:55 - 02:53:56 | Speaker 2:

We're not doing Cleveland steamers.

02:53:58 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay. What's up, Jeremy? How you doing?

02:54:03 - 02:54:14 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, this is going to be kind of weird. I've had more sex at my mom's house in Florida than I have at home after 30 years of marriage. Really? I think it's weird.

02:54:15 - 02:54:18 | Speaker 1:

Really? It's so weird. Wait, where does your mom have a place in Florida?

02:54:18 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 3:

But I don't know what turns her around about being at my mom's house, but I'm like, this is not a good time. You're kidding me.

02:54:25 - 02:54:33 | Speaker 1:

So your wife gets more into you when she's down in the sun, probably, right? She's down in Florida. I don't know if it's down in the sun or she wants my mom to hear.

02:54:34 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what that's for her.

02:54:35 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, maybe that's what does it for her.

02:54:37 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 1:

So quick question for you. Where in Florida is mom? Is she like in Naples or something, or where is she? She's in Tampa. In where? Tampa.

02:54:47 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 4:

Tampa.

02:54:47 - 02:54:58 | Speaker 1:

Tampa. Oh, my God. That's so funny. So you go down and visit your mom down in Tampa and your wife turns into a wild woman. That's fantastic. That sounds great.

02:55:00 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 2:

Uh, what's up, Cody? Hi. Hey guys. How you doing?

02:55:04 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Pretty good. Pretty good. Uh, yeah, I got six bedrooms in the house and a buddy was house sitting for me and he decided to take a girl over and bump uglies in my bed.

02:55:15 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's that's now that's definitely wrong.

02:55:18 - 02:55:19 | Speaker 3:

My bed is.

02:55:19 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 2:

That is wrong. That's gotta be off limits. Wait, where were you that he was going in your bed?

02:55:24 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 3:

I was on vacation.

02:55:25 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 2:

So he was house sitting for you.

02:55:28 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. He was house sitting for me.

02:55:29 - 02:55:31 | Speaker 4:

You don't even sound like you care for real, though.

02:55:32 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it is what it is.

02:55:36 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 2:

Is this a girl that he's in a relationship with, or is this somebody that he just, like, picked up?

02:55:42 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, kind of just playing. I don't really know the girl.

02:55:46 - 02:56:04 | Speaker 2:

This guy that I know, so this is the funniest part. This guy that I know whose house this is, I know both these guys. This one guy moved. He lives in Birmingham, and the funniest thing about the whole deal is there's two hotels that are there. And he was like, why could he not just go to, like, one of these hotels? But the hotel prices were, like, crazy.

02:56:04 - 02:56:08 | Speaker 5:

And his mom and dad. There's a Holiday Inn. Come on.

02:56:08 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 2:

But his mom and dad live 10 or 15 minutes away from there. And I think the weirdest part of the deal is he didn't want to bring this girl home to sleep at night, but he brought her there for, like, daytime hanging out and all this stuff. What do you think these parents are thinking when you're bringing home this girl? Like, they know you're doing this. Yeah, they're not stupid. But the whole point was he wanted to have sex with her. He doesn't want to. Like, how can you not go, like, a couple of days without having sex with her?

02:56:36 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 5:

That was going to be my point, yeah.

02:56:37 - 02:56:39 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? Like, isn't that crazy?

02:56:39 - 02:56:41 | Speaker 5:

Or go to her place if she lives here.

02:56:42 - 02:56:42 | Speaker 2:

Don't you think.

02:56:42 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 3:

Is he playing it off that it's his house and not.

02:56:45 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. She knows. She knows that they're just in town visiting because he's living in New York right now. The funny part is, though, Cody, with this, is I almost think that it's something of a sexual fantasy to bring a girl back to the town that you grew up in and have sex at your buddy's house. Like, you know what I mean?

02:57:02 - 02:57:03 | Speaker 3:

At your buddy's house?

02:57:04 - 02:57:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And the other thing, too, is everybody has their kid's bathroom, right? It's usually one with a shower tub or something. And to me, like, the kid's, like, shampoos are in there and stuff like that. Yeah.

02:57:19 - 02:57:25 | Speaker 5:

Lucy's got all her bath toys. Like, you know, all the crap she plays with when she's taking a shower. The stuff that sticks to the wall.

02:57:25 - 02:57:32 | Speaker 2:

Do you not think that that's weird for this girl to, like, go in there and, like, think that, oh, this is kind of crazy?

02:57:33 - 02:57:34 | Speaker 5:

I think it's weird to do it anywhere in the house.

02:57:35 - 02:57:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:57:35 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 5:

You don't have to specifically say it's a kid's bathroom.

02:57:37 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Especially there. That's nuts. All right. We're going to be right back. Don't go anywhere. It's Mojo in the morning. All right. Take care, guys. Take care, buddy. We'll see you, man. Mojo in the morning's top trending stories. All right. Top trending stories of the day. These are the stories that right now people are talking about here in town. Did you guys hear this? There's a Ohio lawmaker that wants to make it against the law to plant the flag.

02:58:08 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

A felony.

02:58:09 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 2:

After what took place between rivals, Ohio State and Michigan, and the Wolverines planting the flag at the 50-yard line, And the Ohio State State Representative Josh Williams has introduced House Bill 700, also known as the Ohio Sportsmanship Act. If passed, the law would prohibit planting the flag or a flagpole at the center of Ohio Stadium.

02:58:40 - 02:58:45 | Speaker 5:

Not even in the end zone, so you can still plant them, but it's a felony if you do it in the O.

02:58:45 - 02:58:53 | Speaker 2:

And he says that we did not do a very good job of teaching these athletes how to behave.

02:58:54 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 1:

At first, I was hoping the NCAA or the Big Ten would address this with adequacy. But seeing them find simply the university's $100,000 apiece wasn't sufficient. I wanted to see regulations that would ban this type of conduct moving forward and maintain the integrity of the game.

02:59:09 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 2:

Now, Josh, or should I say Representative Williams, what would be the penalty under what you're trying to propose?

02:59:17 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 1:

To either put in policies that will require schools to punish students that participate in this type of activity or outright ban it altogether. This type of activity should result in a suspension at the very least. A repeat occurrence should result in removal of scholarship opportunities. I want to open a federal investigation into this particular representative

02:59:38 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 4:

because if this is what he's spending taxpayer dollars on, then I can't wait for re-election.

Do we know where he graduated? I think we know where he graduated. This is good for his constituents. I guess. I'm just joking. How about this, Josh? Why don't you make it a state law that your coach actually know how to coach a second half of a...

03:00:00 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 6:

A football game. My God. By the way, did you see that they came out with some of the bowl stuff? Michigan is going to be taking on Alabama on a New Year's Eve game. That's going to be an interesting one. That will be wild to see. Alabama could be rolling all over those guys, rolling tide all over those guys. We've got to get an update. We haven't done an update all morning on the guy that is being accused of killing that UnitedHealthcare guy. Which, by the way, I thought he was a CEO. He's not the CEO. There's a CEO of the thing. He was one of the guys under it. But he was one of their chief executives that were there.

03:00:44 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 3:

This morning, authorities eager to get Luigi Mangione back to New York after charging him with murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

03:00:52 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 5:

We will get the defendant here and bring him to justice through our court proceeding.

03:01:01 - 03:01:30 | Speaker 3:

Mangione is fighting extradition from Pennsylvania, where he was arrested and initially charged with gun and forgery offenses. According to investigators, Mangione's fingerprints match a water bottle and snack wrapper near the shooting, and the gun found in his possession matches shell casings at the scene. Sources say Mangione's notebook reveals an alleged plot to whack Thompson at his parasitic bean counter convention. Mangione's lawyer asking people not to prejudge the case.

03:01:30 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 1:

We've seen no evidence. That's one of the many reasons why we're challenging the extradition at this point.

03:01:37 - 03:01:53 | Speaker 3:

Police believe Mangione may have been motivated by animus toward the health care industry, possibly stemming from a spinal condition and severe back pain. Investigators are also taking a close look at the 3D printed gun, or ghost gun, allegedly in his possession. Homemade ghost guns are harder to trace.

03:01:53 - 03:02:03 | Speaker 5:

It's something we're seeing more and more in use, speaking generally. It's something else we've seen people who are younger and younger. These ghost guns are interesting.

03:02:03 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 3:

The NYPD expressing concern that Thompson's alleged killer could be seen as a martyr. A law enforcement bulletin includes this image of a highway banner invoking the words found on the shooter's bullets. GoFundMe has repeatedly shut down fundraisers seeking money for Mangione's defense. Senator Elizabeth Warren, a critic of the health care system, condemned Thompson's killing but said it should serve as a warning.

03:02:25 - 03:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Violence is never the answer. This guy gets a trial who's allegedly killed the CEO of UnitedHealth. But you can only push people so far. And then they start to take matters into their own hands. We need regulation.

03:02:41 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 3:

Thompson, a married father of two, was laid to rest this week. A new memo to employees at UnitedHealth Group praises Thompson as one of the good guys. The CEO telling his employees, never forget, what you do matters. It really, really matters.

03:02:55 - 03:03:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see this Mangione, this Luigi Mangione guy. Everybody is talking about him. They even have been doing, some people have been doing a lookalike contest where people are looking for him because so many women have come forward saying that they think he is so attractive, the guy that did this shooting. Time Magazine has come out with their person of the year and they say this year it's Donald Trump. Donald Trump is Time Magazine's person of the year and actually will be at the New York Stock Exchange. I think it might even be right now.

03:03:30 - 03:03:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he flew into New York City last night.

03:03:32 - 03:04:11 | Speaker 6:

Ringing the bell to announce this as the person of the year. Last year's person of the year was the Ukrainian president Zelensky. Uh, with, uh, that, uh, in this time magazine, uh, issue that they're going to have, they have the icon of the year. That's Elton John. Elton John is that he came out and said something kind of interesting in his interview while speaking to the publication, he said that he struggles with drug addiction and he thinks that the legalization of marijuana is one of the greatest mistakes of all time. He said, I maintain as somebody who has been addicted to drugs, that legalizing marijuana actually is not a good thing.

03:04:11 - 03:04:13 | Speaker 4:

Well, what was he on? Had to be more than weed?

03:04:13 - 03:04:21 | Speaker 6:

I think he said, well, and he also, he went on to say that he started with weed and it led to other drugs, which they have said that that's not, they've come out and said that's not the case.

03:04:21 - 03:04:28 | Speaker 4:

I done smoked a lot of weed. It ain't never made me want to snort no coke or shoot myself up with no needle or lace my jug with crack.

03:04:28 - 03:04:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, an interesting comment coming from him. He, by the way, also, you know, talked a lot about his vision and his vision problems that he has been having lately.

03:04:38 - 03:04:38 | Speaker 2:

You can't see anymore.

03:04:39 - 03:04:39 | Speaker 6:

Wow.

03:04:39 - 03:04:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

03:04:40 - 03:04:49 | Speaker 6:

You guys want to hear some wild things that are going on right now in college universities? Did you do the story in the dirty? If you did, I don't know. Did you hear that they're offering influencer classes now?

03:04:49 - 03:04:53 | Speaker 1:

No, but I read about that. Is it public relations related?

03:04:53 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 6:

So, yeah. So, there's colleges that are offering marketing classes that are specific.

03:05:00 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 2:

for influencers so students become influencers and content creators the university of texas has even partnered with certain organizations to be able to teach influencing to help the united nations possibly get some workers because they're working for some content creators um that's super

03:05:20 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 4:

smart i wish more companies had a marketing department that understood how influencers It just worked.

03:05:26 - 03:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Arkansas Tech University recently began offering a Bachelor of Arts in Social Media Influencing as one of their classes that they offer under their production, journalism, and public relations. That's so smart. I agree with you.

03:05:39 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 3:

Because it's not even about people being influencers. It's about brand strategy through the social media and digital world that I think is fluid. It's always changing.

03:05:49 - 03:05:52 | Speaker 2:

The party's over for Party City. How is this?

03:05:53 - 03:05:54 | Speaker 3:

Maybe. And I hope not.

03:05:54 - 03:05:58 | Speaker 2:

They're one of the many companies that are considering bankruptcy right now.

03:05:58 - 03:06:01 | Speaker 3:

I love Party City. You know what their problem is? How did you classify it?

03:06:02 - 03:06:05 | Speaker 2:

What, Party City? Yeah. It's the place where you go get balloons on your kid's birthday.

03:06:06 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 3:

So it's like a what? Plates and it's a party. They got everything.

03:06:09 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 2:

Party City. It's a party store.

03:06:11 - 03:06:13 | Speaker 4:

It's a party store. Yeah.

03:06:13 - 03:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I know what you're saying. Party supply store. She doesn't like, Megan doesn't like the idea that Chaldeans and all of us here in the Detroit area call the liquor stores that we have party stores.

03:06:23 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 4:

It's so regional. Well, I have such a hard time even navigating to local liquor stores to find them. So many liquor stores on Apple Maps are only listed as party stores and not liquor stores.

03:06:34 - 03:07:27 | Speaker 2:

They say that the party city faces financial issues and it all is blamed on the pandemic because they said there's been a helium shortage, which has caused for the company to actually have issues when putting out their balloons. Where has all the helium gone? Huh? Who's using all the helium? Dumb people who are smoking marijuana are sucking helium right now. In those vapes. That's what you're doing. Thanks, Elton John. You're right. I think you're right. And two last criminals is dumbs to end this with. A criminal mastermind is dumb getting stuck in a chimney to try to evade police. A Massachusetts man got stuck inside of a chimney while trying to evade police as he was robbing homes. By the way, the Joe Burrow story kind of reminds me of that. They say that when the people were breaking in, somebody said that one of them was trying to break in through the chimney.

03:07:27 - 03:07:28 | Speaker 1:

Are you?

03:07:28 - 03:07:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You are an idiot. One of them climbed the roof. And then this is a great one. Did you guys hear the story about how there was the criminal who got caught because he wore too much cologne? Stop. True story, I swear to you. The guy was, let's see here. He was a robber. Oh, my God. They said, I love the title of this. They sniffed him out when the officers were searching for a guy who was evading the police. I smell cologne.

03:07:59 - 03:08:15 | Speaker 1:

Hey, you guys smell the cologne? I smell cologne. Hey, everybody pick up. Yep. Hey. Yeah. Let me see you. Hey, let me see you. Hey, cologne. Yeah. Contact, contact. Make sure we do a call out.

03:08:16 - 03:08:16 | Unknown:

Everybody go.

03:08:16 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that crazy? They were able to catch the guy based off of the cologne. Which, by the way, I smell cologne, too. Is there a Chaldean car man in the studio by the name of Steve Gabara? Stevie G. You know that cologne anywhere. I showered. That's not cologne. Come on. What do you wear, by the way? What cologne do you wear, Steve?

03:08:36 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 1:

I rotate. I'm a rotator. I've got three or four different ones.

03:08:39 - 03:08:42 | Speaker 2:

Really? What do you wear and say? What's your cologne choice?

03:08:42 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Some sort of CK1.

03:08:45 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't even remember what it is.

03:08:46 - 03:08:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I like them light. I like them light and fresher. That's why.

03:08:49 - 03:08:50 | Speaker 2:

You like them light and fresher?

03:08:50 - 03:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Light and fresher.

03:08:51 - 03:08:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't think there's anything light and fresh about that smell that I'm smelling right now.

03:08:54 - 03:08:55 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Stop it.

03:08:55 - 03:09:01 | Speaker 2:

Steve Gabara, by the way, it was nice of you to dress up, by the way, for our Jingle Ball, wearing sweatpants and your...

03:09:01 - 03:09:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I felt good. I felt like I was Kevin's security. Did you notice that? Did you see his outfit? Yeah. Guy was in sweatpants at the Jingle Ball.

03:09:08 - 03:09:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm not mad at it.

03:09:09 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 1:

Actually, it's not fair. They were sweatpants. They were not? I did have a Detroit Lions hoodie on.

03:09:13 - 03:09:16 | Speaker 2:

That is true, by the way. I guess they were joggers, right?

03:09:17 - 03:09:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they were joggers. Some joggers. They were comfortable. I didn't have to get up on stage. You guys were the ones working hard. I didn't have to look all pretty.

03:09:22 - 03:09:34 | Speaker 2:

I have to tell you something about Steve Gabara. He's got better access at our jingle ball than the staff here on this show. See, Tony Travato gave him one of those all-access passes. As he said. You know what?

03:09:34 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 1:

Tony wants a good deal on a car, right? So he stays carrying me. Whenever it's about time, I'm going to buy a new vehicle, and all of a sudden I can start getting favors.

03:09:40 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 2:

How many cars does he drive from you guys a year? Like, how many times did he trade in either his or Brooks' vehicles?

03:09:48 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 1:

I mean, it slowed down a little bit, I'll be honest. But we were doing the makeout with Mojo's Mustang. It was like once a year, twice a year. He would have new cars flowing. Nick, no, too. Nick was bad. I mean, every time Nick walked into the dealership, he looked bad.

03:10:00 - 03:10:03 | Speaker 4:

left him a new car and i i gotta admit i'd invite him out for lunch every once in a while

03:10:03 - 03:10:24 | Speaker 6:

you know get the sale gonna pump those numbers up can i tell you i talked to brooke and brooke was telling me that she was like i don't want to get rid of my car like she did not want to get rid of her car tony made her yeah he would he would see something he would like he's the worst when he goes to get an oil change he's the guy that goes against an oil change the next thing i know walks out with a new car and then special orders the most specific car and goes why isn't

03:10:24 - 03:10:35 | Speaker 4:

ready i mean he wants it down to the you know the specific button colors right i mean it's got exactly what he wants and then when it's not there next week he can't understand it by the way he'll

03:10:35 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 6:
