Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:23 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's good to have you guys here with us today. Happy Tuesday. We've got senseless surveys, phone scams all on the way today. Breakup or makeup, six on sex all coming up. Taylor Swiftness happening in just a few. We'll give away Louis Tomlinson tickets with the back in the day. and then we'll give you a word to text in to win those Taylor Swift tickets. And Shannon's got some big news coming up about Taylor. Today's Taylor's birthday. Celebrating her. Is she 35 years old today? How old is Taylor Swift today?

00:04:05 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 4:

She is 33 years old today.

00:04:08 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

33 years old. Happy 33rd birthday to Taylor Swift. Some fans got lucky yesterday and got a second chance to get some Taylor Swift tickets. So aside from winning from us through Ticketmaster and being part of Taylor's Fan Clubs and signing up for those tickets, you had an opportunity to get them. So we'll talk more about all of that coming up here in just a little bit. It's Mojo Spike not in this morning. He actually was going to come in and then woke up this morning and said his throat just started feeling even worse than it did the other night. And so he is off again today. We've got Shannon here. Megan is back with us. She just took a day off yesterday. Mike is with us. Reese, KP, our producer. Lydia, our associate producer. Katie, our executive audio director. Megan, you are off.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 3:

off yesterday and you just burn in the last uh days that you have right are you done now are

00:05:05 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

you officially uh out of days uh i mean yes i don't until we all go on our vacation yes yeah

00:05:13 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 3:

then yeah so we're now all equal yeah we were not equal before now we are now all equals oh

00:05:18 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 2:

was i the last one to burn through the extra days you were it oh god i can't do it every year you tell me don't waste your days no take them you're very good about that it was better than it was

00:05:29 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

last year last year you were off the entire months of november and december that was not my fault and

00:05:36 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 2:

i still get blamed for that and by the way if you're listening i had nobody to cover for me so i wasn't allowed to take off any vacation throughout the year i'm trying to start sliding

00:05:45 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

to you i'm trying to uh make her more assertive that uh she's got to stop the whole bs that scott sands can say he doesn't have anybody to fill in for you he just hasn't looked for anybody to fill

00:05:56 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 2:

in for you that is also very true and i'm glad you said that out loud but i realized i i really shouldn't be taking these random days because it messes with me too much first of all what did i do yesterday on my day off absolutely nothing and not nothing in a good way nothing in a bad way because i let me tell you i'm the kind of person who loves to take a day to watch 14 hours to Netflix and do nothing else like that is my epitome of a beautiful day off but I had a weird amount of like errands to run yesterday and meetings to go to I still came into work yesterday for a few minutes it was the worst I had um now to be fair that was my fault I forgot to make some commercials so I had to come in and make some commercials and I did it at like seven o'clock last night it was awful but i didn't wake up until what noon yesterday i want to say you slept in like a teenager i know and i went to bed last night at one in the morning oh my

00:07:01 - 00:07:05 | Speaker 3:

because you couldn't you couldn't fall asleep that's the worst isn't it when you do that

00:07:05 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

so i was sitting there and i i just looked at my brother it's like 10 o'clock at night that's usually like very late for me and he said something along the lines of like i can't believe you're awake right now i just looked at him i went i'm way awake my body's off schedule i don't know what to do i'm like not even tired a little bit and he just went uh-oh and i was like i know one o'clock in the morning rolls around i looked at my alarm clock like wide awake heart palpitations happening going you're gonna oversleep for work tomorrow you're gonna oversleep for work tomorrow uh yeah and then i was replying to comments on instagram and then i was like when you oversleep they're gonna check your instagram and see that you were up at one o'clock in the

00:07:41 - 00:08:40 | Speaker 3:

morning you better not over sleep people always ask uh do we get into a different sleep pattern when we take time off or we're you know not on the air and um and i always tell them that like the first like two or three days i my body clock automatically wakes up at 3 30 i have no idea why that is but it wakes up at 3 30 in the morning and then i go to the bathroom or something or go right back to bed and then after about three days then I assimilate to my body schedule of waking I like to stay up like you did I like to stay up till like midnight or one o'clock in the morning and watch television that I normally don't get to watch or binge or you know see if Taco Bell still delivers DoorDash at that time you know stuff like that and then we have to come back to work after having you know the time off and then I'm exactly where you are where I feel screwed like i feel like i get then this sunday scaries yep yeah and i'm not a morning person

00:08:40 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 2:

so it doesn't even take me like three days to get off schedule like i if i could stay up till four o'clock in the morning every night i would like that is my normal schedule yeah now when

00:08:51 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 1:

you sleep until noon on a day off do you feel like you like wasted the day off though because i do

00:08:56 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

yes and no i did yesterday because i did have like meetings and stuff to go to so i was like Well, there goes my casual morning of making coffee and breakfast for myself and not having to get up. Because let's be honest, when it comes to doing the show, I get up and it's kind of like run until the show starts. I don't give myself a lot of time. It's like, get up, brush your teeth, go pee, get your coffee together, change your clothes, get out the door, go, go, go, go. But on a weekend or a day off, it's like, get up. Make some coffee. You hungry? Make yourself some breakfast.

00:09:31 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

I will It's interesting that you say that because of I feel like We never get to see the sunrise Never Like we are We have forever in our lives Have had no sunrise Because we have no studio windows And we've had to like be in You know In here You know doing our thing

00:09:52 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

I feel like when I do When I'm on vacation And I do see the sunrise It's the drop of What

00:09:57 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah That's true. What do you think it looks like? Whoa. I turn into Reese. Whoa. My friends will be like, I hate going to work in the winter because it's so dark outside. I'm like, that's me? Every single day. Every day. Every day.

00:10:16 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 1:

It's so nice. It's so nice to have like a day off and just listen

00:10:22 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 3:

to the birds. See, and I hear this and my kids still wake up at 5 a.m. on the weekend and on days off so I don't want to hear You're, oh, I had to sleep in, and I had to get up at 8 a.m., and it was so hard.

00:10:33 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 1:

You chose to have them, Mike. I know. And more. And more are coming your way.

00:10:38 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 4:

Usually I sound like the bitter Betty, but today, Mike, that goes to you.

00:10:42 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 1:

That's right. Mike, you never get to wake up to listen to the birds chirping.

00:10:47 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 3:

I do wake up to listen to the birds chirping, whether I want to or not.

00:10:51 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 1:

Your birds chirping hour. Yeah. Yeah. Hello. It's Mojo in the morning. How are you doing, George?

00:10:59 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 5:

Good, good. I tell you, I worked at FedEx for a while, and our shift was at 9 at night until 5 in the morning. And you would get out at 5 in the morning on your Saturday, and that's about the time everybody's getting ready, about 6 o'clock, 7 o'clock, get back or whatnot. So you were up really long Saturday.

00:11:19 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow.

00:11:19 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 5:

And then Sunday. and then you'd have Monday would come up. So it was kind of like a three-day weekend because you didn't have to be back in until 9 o'clock Monday night. But you had to find a time somewhere Monday to kind of get at least some shut-eye because it was tough.

00:11:37 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 1:

I bet you it was. I can't imagine. I think that we have crazy hours. I think anybody that has to go to work at like 11 o'clock at night or midnight and work through the night, that's not human. They should not have to do that.

00:11:51 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 5:

Well, you have a huge day on your day, though. It's great because Saturday, when you have things going on, if you planned according, you could have a camper somewhere Friday and go stay there. I mean, you could squeak out four-day weekends without using any of your time off.

00:12:07 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. George, I used to be a night jock, do 7 to midnight, and when I'd do 7 to midnight, I'd come home from working at like, I don't know, 1.30. I couldn't go to bed until like 5 a.m., and nothing good happens at that time of the night. You know what I mean? No, you're right. All you end up doing is watching bad television and eating bad food.

00:12:30 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 6:

Right, right. You can't go anywhere. There's nothing open.

00:12:33 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:12:33 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 6:

You can be one of those guys who walks around Walmart or Meyers, you know?

00:12:36 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 1:

Right, exactly. I used to do that. Mike, when you were the night guy, when you were working Mike at night, did you ever find yourself doing that, like stopping off at Walmart just because it was the only store that was open?

00:12:47 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 3:

It's the best time to go shopping because they're restocking everything. There's nobody there. You can walk around and do whatever you want at any time.

00:12:54 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it, George. Have a great day. Take care of yourself. Well, Megan, it's good to have you back. Good to have Mike on the mic through the morning because of no worries of running out for the breaking and entering Christmas wish. Hope to get Spike back maybe tomorrow. I think he's just going to go to see the doc today. So he's going to see what's going on, why his throat is hurting him so much. He's posted on his story that his throat feels like he just ate a whole bunch of Christmas ornaments. You know, those are like glass Christmas ornaments. Yeah. Like that's how bad it is. That feeling of like waking up and just trying to like swallow and it's just awful. There's nothing worse than that. Chelsea said all I was doing was coughing again last night. So I finally bogged in. my doctor's been trying to get me to take a steroid and I'm like, I don't want to take a steroid because I just lost a bunch of weight with Ideal U and the last thing in the world I want to do is get fat.

00:13:51 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 4:

I know, I've been taking a steroid for the past four days, five days. Have you? Have you been eating

00:13:55 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 1:

like a maniac because of it? No, I've been eating nothing. This is the first time because normally... Oh, really? The steroid actually will keep me from wanting to eat? Well, normally

00:14:01 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 4:

when I'm on prednisone, I eat I'm so hungry and I retain water, but for some reason this time, whatever we all got, I have zero appetite. Yeah. Zero.

00:14:11 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 1:

I was fighting the urge to do it because I was out of vanity. Like, that was my thing.

00:14:17 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 4:

No, that's usually me, too. I'm with you.

00:14:18 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

And Chelsea's like, vanity, throw it out the window. I've been staying up all night listening to you hacking coffee.

00:14:23 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Couldn't be me, Shannon. I've still got my appetite.

00:14:27 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:14:27 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

That's usually what it is, but I don't know why this time. I just have zero appetite.

00:14:31 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 1:

All right. It's Mojo in the morning. We're going to get the show started for some tickets to see Louie Tomlinson. It's our Back in the Day.

00:14:38 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 2:

How smart are you?

00:14:39 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 1:

I wonder when the show restarts, but this was the year that the hit drama The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon premiered on Apple TV.

00:14:55 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 3:

The part you guys never seem to realize is that you don't have the power anymore.

00:15:00 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 1:

And frankly, I've let you bozos handle this long time.

00:15:02 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 6:

It's kind of interesting, isn't it, that GMA is kind of going through this little drama right now. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin held their official wedding ceremony this year. I love her without even needing to touch her.

00:15:17 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 2:

Everybody just dance their faces off.

00:15:20 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 6:

This is what life is really about. And Ariana Grande had the big song on radio. What year was it? We'll set you up with the price. Good luck.

00:15:36 - 00:15:50 | Speaker 2:

What year did these things happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:15:50 - 00:15:55 | Speaker 6:

The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon debuted on Apple TV in this year.

00:15:55 - 00:16:06 | Speaker 1:

The part you guys never seem to realize. is that you don't have the power anymore. And frankly, I've let you bozos handle this long enough. We are doing this my way.

00:16:06 - 00:16:16 | Speaker 6:

Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber officially had a wedding ceremony this year despite privately marrying in a courthouse. I love her without even needing to touch her.

00:16:16 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 2:

Everybody just danced their faces off.

00:16:19 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 6:

This is what life is really about. And Ariana Grande had the big song. Emily, what year was that?

00:16:27 - 00:16:32 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Mojo. Well, because of the recent scandal, I just re-watched the morning show, so it's 2019.

00:16:33 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 6:

There you go. Yes. Good to have you. Isn't it wild? You know, their scandal they were talking about was the one back at the Today Show, or they kind of modeled it after, but who would have thought that Good Morning America has their own little...

00:16:44 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. How perfect, right?

00:16:45 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 6:

Their TJ Holmes and Amy Robach scandal going on. We're setting you up with tickets to see Louie Tomlinson coming to Michigan Lottery Amphitheater in June. You got tickets, so you don't have to buy them. Congrats.

00:16:57 - 00:16:59 | Speaker 5:

Awesome. I'm so excited. Thank you.

00:17:00 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 6:

You're so welcome. Have a great morning, okay?

00:17:02 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 5:

Thanks. You too.

00:17:04 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 6:

Taylor, it's time now for an opportunity to win. It is our Taylor Swiftmas. Listen to win at 630 and 930 with us for Taylor Swift tickets. Text SWIFT right now to 95500 for a chance to win tickets. Text SWIFT, S-W-I-F-T, right now to 95500, standard text and data rates to apply, and you have a chance to win tickets to see Taylor Swift on her birthday. Mojo in the morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what you got trending in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:17:37 - 00:17:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, Dua Lipa has moved on from Trevor Noah, if there was anything going on there in the first place, and she has moved on to Jack Harlow. Very fitting, because his latest album features a song called Dua Lipa.

00:17:52 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 6:

Oh, really?

00:17:53 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 3:

I kind of love that. How'd they meet? It was actually really recent. They were introduced at the Variety Hitmakers brunch in L.A. just a couple of weeks ago, and they hit it off. They've been in constant communication ever since, from what I'm told. He even flew to New York City to meet up with her after she performed at our iHeartRadio, our Z100 Jingle Ball, on Friday night. So he was there, cheering her on, and people, I should say sources, not people, but people at Z100 say they left together, they went to a little restaurant together, they were spotted in the meatpacking district for lunch the next day, so definitely something going on there.

00:18:31 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 6:

I kind of like that. I like it a lot. I think that's a good one. I'd like to actually hear them together do a song. I always like when these artists get together like this, and I think that maybe it should just be a good collaboration, too. because you know that a lot of these relationships end up not, like, lasting.

00:18:45 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 3:

Like the Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.

00:18:47 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, like let's get a song out of them first and then they can have their relationship so that when they break up we have something that we can listen to. We have a souvenir from their relationship. Exactly.

00:18:58 - 00:19:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is over to songwriters and Taylor Swift came to a decision yesterday to drop that lawsuit that's been going on for five years now. The lawsuit that claimed Taylor copied the lyrics for her song, Shake It Off.

00:19:11 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 6:

Is this the one with 3LW?

00:19:15 - 00:19:50 | Speaker 3:

Yes, songwriters Nathan Butler and Sean Hall said Shake It Off sounds a whole lot like the song that they wrote for 3LW called Play Is Gonna Play. Specifically the lyrics. And Taylor has long maintained that she's never even heard this song until the lawsuit came about in 2017. So there's no way she could have copied the lyrics. She actually said in her argument that her mom and dad didn't permit her to watch TRL or MTV until she was 13 years old. So she's like, I didn't even know about the song. That was the defense? That was her defense.

00:19:51 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 6:

I feel like that was just a dig. Like, I've never even heard this song. Who are you guys?

00:19:55 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't allowed to watch MTV. I mean, fair, but yeah. Kelly Clarkson.

00:20:00 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 2:

is asking a judge for court-ordered protection from a dude she claims recently showed up multiple times at her house and she's got like a ring cam or a nest cam. So you can see this happening, which is really scary. Guy's name is Victor Fernandez. Kelly's head of security said this guy first showed up at Kelly's home on Thanksgiving, pulled up in a semi-truck and was looking over her privacy gate that way. He returned two more times on Thanksgiving, Once in the semi-truck, later by himself on foot, rang the doorbell, claimed he was there to see Kelly. So she's asking a judge to keep this guy at least 100 yards away from her home, her job, her car, her kids' school, their daycare. Also, she wants protection for her nanny, her house manager, and her kids.

00:20:47 - 00:21:26 | Speaker 6:

I watched Kelly Clarkson yesterday. I normally never do. To me, I just had television on. I was trying to take a nap on the couch. And she is home with COVID Homesick So she was doing the show remotely from home And they had a TV screen in her studio And the guests of her show I think it was like Jewel was one of her guests The guests would sit there and be interviewed By her on a TV screen It actually was kind of Interesting No there's no way anything on that show was interesting You are not a Kelly fan are you? No I like the song I like the Christmas song In fact I love the Christmas song But I do not like the show I agree with you though On the fact that Mike I don't think that the show Is that great Megan

00:21:26 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 2:

It gets decent ratings though

00:21:28 - 00:21:34 | Speaker 4:

It's great It's so nice I love that And the Drew Barrymore show I love Drew Barrymore I think they're both great

00:21:34 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 6:

I would rather have Ellen being mean to her cast Her people And have her back on television

00:21:40 - 00:21:43 | Speaker 4:

And this is why These shows are not meant For you guys You guys are crazy

You just have to uncork it. And if you don't know how to do that, please go buy one and figure it out. All right. She needs extra plants. I needed to go buy some. If you don't have some, she requests more oxygen in the store.

If she wants the clothes you're wearing, you take them off and give them to her, okay? All right. If she sees you eating lunch and she says that looks good, you give it to her, okay? Yes, sir. If she sees that you listen to Mojo in the morning and you might be phone scammed right now, you say, that's right, this is Spike, and you've just been phone scammed, Danielle. They're on sale at ToledoZoo.org. It's the best zoo around. I'm telling you, you're going to love it. So congratulations. Thank you. All right, hang on the phone for a second. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. Mojo in the Morning. Our breaking and entering Christmas wish, granting wishes. It's holiday season. You can go to MojosWish.org to find out more. phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text is 95500 if you're listening to the show on the iheart radio app don't stop the stream make sure that you keep us there okay because you don't have to like stop and make a phone call into us you can text us at 95500 we'll get that and we may even call you up just to say hi to you. So yesterday I was at the mall. I had to run over to 12 Oaks Mall just down the street, and I needed to pick up something. I was trying to find a sweater for our holiday sweater party tomorrow. I don't want a goofy sweater. I wanted something that was like a nice sweater, something nice to wear. And I feel like I've worn all my sweaters out to a point where they now are pilling. They've got so much little bad action from wear and tear on them. And so I went to the mall to go look for what they had available. And when I was walking into Nordstrom's, I became that guy. And I'm going to describe this to you, and I want you guys to tell me at what point can I stop? It was like never-ending. I held the door open for these two nice little old ladies, okay? They were walking into the mall. They looked like they were going to go and they were going to have, like, I don't know, a play date or something.

00:36:00 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 4:

A play date.

00:36:01 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Old people have play dates together.

00:36:03 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 4:

All right. At the play set in the center of the mall. Maybe. They're going to crawl all over the frogs. Maybe something like that. Right. Yeah.

00:36:11 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 2:

So I held it. And they were like, oh, my. And they gave me, like, the whole, like, thing, like, thank you so much. That's so kind to you. I'm like, oh, great. No problem. Then I saw a lady coming up with her stroller, and she was walking with her child. And I'm like, you know what? I'm going to wait here for a second. I'm going to hold it for her.

00:36:24 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, thank you. That's so nice. As a mom who had a stroller, nobody ever held the door for the mom with the stroller.

00:36:29 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 2:

Then out of nowhere comes this guy walking in. Okay, so I'm like, all right, I can't stop, and you got to hold it for him. Then comes another person. Then comes another person, another person, another person. Yep. And then it got to a point where I was holding the door open, and I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. At least 15 people must have gone through the door during the time that I was holding the door open for them. And I'm finally at a point going, I think I've been standing here for, like, the last, you know, 35 minutes of my life holding the door open. I'm, like, now the doorman of this place. So I'm like, all right, enough is enough. I'm done. But then I see at least 20 feet or so away in the parking lot, somebody's running. Running up because they want me to hold the door for them. All right? Like, Mike, I swear to you, they were running because they saw a guy holding the door open. I'm going to get this guy to hold the door open for me.

00:37:21 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 4:

Or they thought that you were holding the door open waiting for them. Okay, maybe. So they wanted to hurry.

00:37:26 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 1:

I would rather they do that, though, than still walk slow expecting you to hold it, though. I'd rather they hustle a little bit.

00:37:34 - 00:37:42 | Speaker 2:

It was at a point when I'm like, when the hell do I get to walk through this door? Why am I the person that's holding the door open?

00:37:43 - 00:37:45 | Speaker 4:

Your mom would be so proud of you. She taught you well.

00:37:45 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 2:

You know where to hit me hard. God rest her soul. I love you, Mom. I'd hold the door for you. But she would be very proud of that I was not a boy scout because I couldn't fit into the clothes But What's the maximum amount Of people that you have to hold the door for If you're holding the door And there is nothing worse than when you go to a mall When you go to the You know to wherever And there's so many people that are just standing there It makes me wish that they had those turning doors What are those things called

00:38:13 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 4:

Like the revolving doors

00:38:15 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean Like it made me go geez i like when i go to like chicago or something you know in a big city and they have those things

00:38:22 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 4:

yeah i i heard one guy do say this recently when i was at the mall i think he was you for a while and he got sick of it so after i passed through i was with smith at the time i heard him say to somebody behind me tag you're it oh that's good i like that it was somebody else's turn he must

00:38:40 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 2:

have had he must have been there for a while yeah i to me it was it was at one point like the two old ladies the lady in the stroller that was enough yeah i did my good duties my due diligence for the day um then everybody else is like coming out of nowhere and it was first off it's first it's early in the week how are people out this much at a mall like where are you guys why are you guys not working where where are you supposed to be um misfit nicole i haven't talked to you in forever god love you nicole i know what should i have done nicole i need to have misfit nicole's attitude yeah you would have closed you would have closed the door in their face you would

00:39:24 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 3:

have you would have held the door closed and locked it that is not true listen first of all i had two questions well let me i have one question you should have stopped when it was a man like you're a man like you don't have to hold the door for the man like once a man came up you should let it go or how old was that kid walking with the mom with the stroller oh no

00:39:47 - 00:39:48 | Speaker 2:

No, it was a little child. It was a little kid.

00:39:49 - 00:39:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. See, if they ate it up, I hit them with the auntie move, like, hey, hold this door for your mama, and then you keep a picture.

00:39:57 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to try that. See that? I told you, Nicole.

00:40:00 - 00:40:02 | Speaker 5:

I wish I had your attitude. I love you, Nicole.

00:40:02 - 00:40:03 | Speaker 7:

Love you. Bye.

00:40:04 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Bill? How you doing?

00:40:06 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 7:

Good, Mojo. How you doing?

00:40:07 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 5:

Good. What's the etiquette on this one? How many people do I have to hold the door for?

00:40:11 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 7:

Well, you know, it really depends on if you are holding the door at a restaurant where people are going to be seated before you.

00:40:17 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's a good point. What in the, you know what the etiquette on that is that you get to put your name in before them because you were out there holding the door and if they don't let you, well, no, So that's what I would do.

00:40:30 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 7:

It should work that way. You're right. It should work that way.

00:40:33 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. What do you think about what Nicole just said, Misfit Nicole said, that you don't have to hold the door for a guy?

00:40:40 - 00:40:41 | Speaker 7:

It's kind of rude.

00:40:41 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 8:

Well, I think that's when you can pass it on then. Then it's his turn.

00:40:45 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:40:46 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 8:

I think that's totally fair.

00:40:47 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 5:

That's when you do the tag you're it part?

00:40:49 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 8:

Tag you're it. Yeah.

00:40:50 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Yeah.

00:40:52 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 7:

Only if you've been holding it for a long time. Yeah.

00:40:54 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Ray, what is your advice?

00:40:58 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I was saying you can't make eye contact. When you make eye contact, it's over.

00:41:02 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 9:

Yep, it's over. You are so right.

00:41:05 - 00:41:08 | Speaker 5:

You got to keep your head down, right, when you're standing there?

00:41:09 - 00:41:12 | Speaker 7:

Definitely, definitely. The eyes meet each other, and that's it. You're on it.

00:41:12 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 5:

You're done. Yeah.

00:41:14 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 7:

You guys have a good morning.

00:41:15 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 5:

Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I liked what KP said earlier this morning off the air when she was talking about how sometimes there are those douchebag guys. And what do they do, KP, when you're walking in the mall?

00:41:26 - 00:41:35 | Speaker 2:

They pretend like you're not behind them And they go so small Like they crack the door open and squeeze through it Just so they don't have to hold it for you That's amazing

00:41:35 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 5:

I can't believe that there are guys that wouldn't hold the door open for you That's unbelievable

00:41:39 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 2:

You don't want me either

00:41:40 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 5:

That's like the meanest thing ever I've had it before Where the electric door Like you ever see that where they have the handicap thing Where you push the thing

00:41:51 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 9:

And it's starting to close

00:41:52 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 5:

And people will run in really fast in front of you, and it's like, I pushed the button. Don't you be daring doing that.

00:42:00 - 00:42:03 | Speaker 9:

It's like a game, though, at that point. It is like a game. Can I make it?

00:42:03 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:07 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 4:

Mojo loves all three of Santa's hoes. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:12 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 6:

After further review of the play, the ruling on the field stands. The other morning shows still suck.

00:42:19 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 4:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:25 - 00:43:24 | Speaker 5:

we got some holiday cash to give away mojo's missile dough giving away some money how'd you like to win your share uh ten thousand dollars could be yours so stick around we'll have another chance for you coming up here on the mojo in the morning show in just moments uh your home of the phone scams the war of the roses and the dirty on the 30 i sounded like a guy that had too much to drink last night but i do have this is a cold that goes that's there and um it does make you realize that uh when you do have a cold you do sound like you're drunk and it's funny because you can never hear yourself when you're drunk like when i'm drunk i don't ever you know people will be like oh you've been drinking too much i'm like what are you talking about you know what i mean but when i'm sick or just getting over something i feel like you kind of hear it a

00:43:24 - 00:43:29 | Speaker 1:

When you get drunk, you don't post on Instagram stories and then check it the next morning and go, what damage did I do?

00:43:29 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 5:

Megan, I can't find my phone. No, that'll do it.

00:43:32 - 00:43:32 | Speaker 9:

That'll do it.

00:43:32 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 5:

That's usually the only. I love your laugh. That's the only. I know.

00:43:36 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 9:

I know. That's fine. It hurts when I laugh. So I feel like my laugh.

00:43:41 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 5:

It's so bad.

00:43:41 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 9:

Like I can't actually laugh, like deep belly laugh. Yeah. I would just cough and choke. Yesterday, there was one. It's disgusting.

00:43:49 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 5:

There was one moment where I think it might have been when Mike and Reese were arguing over butt warmers That I started laughing and I got to a point where I was like And I started like coughing so much I had to turn my microphone off And then I turned your microphone off because our microphones pretty much fuel everybody And then there's Mike who actually will just laugh out loud at you especially if you're somebody that was at that kid's concert that you went to oh i did well okay

00:44:21 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 3:

a little bit but i i went to my daughter's christmas concert last night which is adorable it's fun to watch um but like halfway through the concert they're doing this like transition thing where i don't know how they get all these kids to to stay in one spot this entire time but they're like moving around and they're they're waving and they're dancing and doing all this other stuff and this little girl from like the middle of the bleachers that they're standing on on stage starts tumbling down no oh yeah the risers uh yeah yeah yeah and so she and so the whole place the music stops it was like a scene out of a movie the music stops you hear dude

00:45:00 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 1:

do do and ever nobody knows how to react like the kids like you would think in that situation kids would laugh did not one kid laugh they all just stood there and looked at her and she stood up and the look on her face was this is going to be what defines me for the next year because it is it is it absolutely is and my wife goes delete that video now and i went what do you mean and she goes delete that video do not send that anywhere delete it now because that poor little girl is going to remember this forever and i felt so bad she got up and she was fine she was okay teacher made a joke about it everybody laughed and she was fine but like behind behind the scene she's going to be known for that forever right oh my gosh well yeah at least in her head she's going to be known for that yeah oh yeah yeah yeah and stuff like i remember i remember uh stuff like this happened all the time i was in a play once and as a kid and i was in it was the uh it was peter pan and my uh shirt i was supposed to uh wear like a shirt that looked like i had muscles but i didn't know that so i walked out on stage with no shirt on thinking that that was the way i was supposed to do this the scene or whatever and everybody's like where are your clothes why are you walking out here naked right now and so for like a year i was the naked native american because that's what i was on on stage at that particular moment i i will tell you that stands

00:46:21 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

in schools like you know the you know the we have to like try to walk up and there's no railing or no any of that risers for those choir concerts and stuff i like when i'm like trying to spectate like my kids sporting events or their choir concerts and stuff and i have to go and climb over the stands and i always feel like i'm gonna bite it because i never know like how to step or where to step and then some of these stands have you ever they're not like solid like they you kind to like have like a cushion or a dip or something on it and i am like telling you that that i feel for that kid that that fell because that could potentially be me or will be me one day if i'm

00:47:01 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 1:

walking in one of those stands i think every kid fears that when you're especially when you're on stage too like you gotta it's terrifying and those things are so rickety because every school's had

00:47:10 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 2:

them for 200 years you know what i mean yeah they make that noise when all the kids get up on them You can hear it.

00:47:17 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 1:

That's all you heard when she fell was...

00:47:19 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever been that person where you embarrassed yourself in front of your whole school? If that's you, you've got to call us up at 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What was the embarrassing thing that had happened to you during a pep rally? Or in this case, this was a Christmas concert. It's funny, it's Christmas concert time because I had Luke's Christmas concert the other night. And you're sitting there the whole time And it's, you know It gets cued You know, for like maybe I don't know, seven songs I think they did the other night at Loose Concert They might have done like 38 songs Like they literally did any rendition They could of any Christmas song And I sat there the whole time Because it's a Sunday night I sat there the whole time going I gotta wake up at 3.30 in the morning And then Chelsea's like Well you can't leave because Luke, his group goes, like, last. I'm like, of course they go last.

00:48:17 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 2:

Of course, of course.

00:48:17 - 00:48:40 | Speaker 3:

I'm the one that's got to stay there and go last. This is titled, by the way, I saved this one because I remember a few years back, the worst Jingle Bells rendition ever at a kid's holiday concert.

00:48:40 - 00:48:50 | Speaker 2:

That's it baby The practice has paid off Is that kazoos? What is that?

00:48:50 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 3:

Those are all like horn instruments

00:48:53 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 1:

You can't tell me that that's not a bunch of kids Who have never picked up an instrument before

00:49:01 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 3:

They are And he keeps going

00:49:07 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and you have to clap, too, like it's the greatest thing you've ever seen.

00:49:13 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 3:

The poor music teacher is, like, going, oh, I've got to work with these kids. Ready? Here it goes. Ready to get to everybody.

00:49:37 - 00:49:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, now they got the drums.

00:49:46 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 1:

That is like the greatest. So that's her kid? She's bad, bad, bad, bad. Yeah. Do you have the conversation like, hey, maybe we play soccer? Maybe you're the guy that sets up and takes down everything. Right.

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 6:

Krista, hi. Does this bring back memories for you when you were early on in band?

00:50:06 - 00:50:10 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, I was really on campus.

00:50:10 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 6:

I'm sorry. Hold on. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, I'm sorry. I apologize. about that one is that not the greatest ever oh my gosh that's wild what happened to you

00:50:36 - 00:51:52 | Speaker 3:

so we went to a trip um to florida for you know our trip for uh the the band and we go to disney world and do all the stuff well we've been on the bus for like 24 hours and you know being a girl in high school you're all like oh my gosh my hair blah blah blah so they're videoing everybody getting off the bus and so my last like me and my friend were like the last two to get off and so i'm trying to cover my face so i'm not videoed and i totally missed the stool and fell like right off the bus like on the video off the video back on the video popping back up like just a few of us saw it though but then at the end of the trip on our way home everyone driving to the bus and he shows the video the whole video so there i am falling off the bus but that wasn't even the worst part so he edits the video and when we're home and he's like shows the regular part through the video but then at the end he's like everyone had a great trip especially krista three times he like does this you know rewind thing and and then not only does he show it to our band he's got like the piano class his orchestra class this like all these classes so So I have people coming up to me like in school going, hey, aren't you that girl that fell off the bus?

00:51:53 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 6:

That's exactly what Mike was saying. You now become known as that girl. Chantel? Hi. Hey, what's up?

00:52:01 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 2:

So my five-year-old, for his first choir concert, before they even started singing, he saw me and his dad and got so excited that he, like, stumbled and fell. He didn't really hurt himself, but he was so embarrassed and upset. He just sat there the entire concert, refused to sing with the saddest look on his face. And his teacher, bless her soul, just sat with him and kind of comforted him. Oh, sweet. Yeah, that was his first concert. We have pretty funny pictures from it. Oh, I bet.

00:52:30 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 6:

Poor kid. DeAsia, what's up?

00:52:33 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys.

00:52:35 - 00:52:36 | Speaker 6:

How you doing? What's going on?

00:52:37 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 4:

So I remember in high school, so we had a football game, and I was in marching band. So we had a football game that was against the opposing high school in our district, and it was an away game for our high school. So we're marching our show on their home field, and so there's the parents of the opposing high school and all the students. There's the students and parents of our high school, and we're marching our show, and we're going along just fine. And I remember during one of our movements, I blacked out for a minute and fell on field in front of everybody while performing.

00:53:12 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 7:

Oh, God. Did everybody stop, or did they just keep going?

00:53:16 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 4:

I was able to get right back up, so we just kind of kept going. And surprisingly enough, I don't think anybody noticed, but, like, it just hurt me so badly.

00:53:25 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 6:

I bet.

00:53:26 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 4:

For, like, the rest of the performance, and I was just, I was making sure I didn't get marched over because, you know, I'm on the ground and everyone else is still going. And it's like, oh, let's not get trampled here.

00:53:35 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. You're a trooper, by the way. What's up, Molly? What happened to you?

00:53:40 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 1:

um so hi i love you guys um so i um was a dancer in high school and stuff so at our dance recital once um we ended in a position where like we pointed up to the ceiling or whatever and um as we were like waiting for the curtain to close i was like too far ahead in the line so the curtain kind of like closed and i kind of got like caught up in it and i was trying to like maneuver my way out of it but i ended up on the front of the curtain so like everybody in the audience just I kind of, like, laughed, and I just had to wave and walk off the stage. You did a solo. Yeah. All by myself.

00:54:14 - 00:54:31 | Speaker 6:

You know what's amazing, though, is when you do something like that, it kind of teaches you, like, to be able to laugh off things, right? You kind of, you know, have to. Unless there's guys like Mike that bring it up on the radio show and you're a kid that's on your way to school this morning. Didn't say her name, and everybody felt for her. Yeah.

00:54:32 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 4:

You were going to post that video on Mojo in the morning. I was going to at least send it in.

00:54:36 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 7:

Instagram, that weren't you? Spike does another assistless survey at 7.50. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:54:47 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 6:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour is Dirty on the 30.

00:54:49 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 7:

Well, good news for some Taylor Swift verified fans. You are getting a second chance to purchase tickets later this month to her heiress tour after Ticketmaster canceled sales.

00:55:00 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 2:

due to high demand that huge debacle lives on verified fans will have a limited opportunity to purchase two tickets each that's all you get up here to her upcoming tour so this is part of the email that was sent to fans yesterday it says you were selected for this opportunity because you've been identified as a fan who received a boost during the verified fan resale but did not or presale excuse me but did not purchase tickets we apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced and have been asked by taylor's team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets. So Ticketmaster apologized again yesterday and said the new tickets will be available before Christmas. Sam Bankman Freed, you know him as the disgraced former CEO of that crypto exchange FTX. He has been arrested. The crypto billionaire was nabbed in the Bahamas, where he's been hiding out since his empire came crashing down last month after it was valued at $32 billion. So he was supposed to be in D.C. today. He's now facing criminal charges in the U.S. Lizzo asked yesterday during an interview how she feels about all of the critics who say she writes music for white people.

00:56:13 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 1:

Very hurtful. Only because, like, I am a black woman. And I feel like it really, like, challenges, like, my identity and who I am and diminishes that. And then on the other end, it's like I'm making funky, soulful, feel-good music that is so similar to a lot of black music that was made for black people in the 70s and 80s.

00:56:38 - 00:56:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't know why they have to bring race into the music.

00:56:41 - 00:56:48 | Speaker 2:

I really don't understand this, and I know that critics have been saying this about her for quite some time, and she's answered this question many times.

00:56:48 - 00:56:58 | Speaker 4:

It's just mind-blowing how divisive everybody just wants to be nowadays and just cause for problems. If I was Lizzo, I'd say, I don't care what color you are. You enjoy my music. I hope you do.

00:56:59 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 3:

She has said that. And then people... They keep going. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:57:02 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 4:

But it's just amazing that people... Like, honestly, the interviewer, shame on them for even asking that question. It's just dumb. Because all you're doing is perpetuating it and keeping it going by asking that stupid question.

00:57:14 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 2:

I know you just got done watching White Lotus, didn't you, Mojo?

00:57:16 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 4:

I did. I was so disappointed.

00:57:19 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

What?

00:57:19 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 4:

The finale of White Lotus was the worst finale ever, Megan.

00:57:24 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 3:

You are so wrong. Okay, don't, no spoilers.

00:57:27 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 4:

Megan, I was so disappointed that I stayed up late to watch it.

00:57:32 - 00:57:48 | Speaker 3:

First of all, Theo James is like literally top five for me. I am in love with him. So his character killed me. I hate seeing him in a role like that because I just love him too much. But I love the ending because it's exactly what I didn't expect.

00:57:48 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 2:

All right. So if you are watching White Lotus or if it's on your list to watch, I'm going to watch it over the holiday break. But you might you might be one of the many people who are now dreaming of vacationing in Sicily. There's recently been a huge, huge surge in flight and hotel searches to the picturesque Italian island featured on the show. Listen to this. Last month, vacations from the U.S. to Sicily specifically were up 90% when compared to last year. Isn't that crazy?

00:58:22 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 4:

But didn't last year it also raise the awareness for Hawaii trips?

00:58:27 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think so. But people specifically want to go to the island that was featured on the show.

00:58:32 - 00:58:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I love White Lotus. Watch it. It was honestly the season that to me was more entertaining than last season. I just The Andy and I Guess I was disappointed As to who died So That's awesome

00:58:45 - 00:58:48 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday Wait somebody dies

00:58:48 - 00:58:50 | Speaker 4:

Well that's the whole point Of the show right

00:58:50 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 2:

Yesterday I kept seeing Photos of Bob Barker As I was scrolling On Instagram And this literally Gives me a heart attack Because He's old Makes me nervous But no worries He is still alive He was actually Just celebrating His 99th Birthday Yesterday Nearly 15 years have passed since Bob passed on his skinny microphone that he used on The Price is Right. But the tributes were pouring in for him yesterday on his birthday.

00:59:17 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 4:

So, wait. How old did Betty live to? Wasn't it?

00:59:21 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 2:

99.

00:59:21 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 4:

99. Right?

00:59:22 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 2:

She didn't reach her 100th birthday. Yeah. Oh, boy. She was real close, too.

00:59:26 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 4:

Hold on to Bob. I know. Put Bob in, like, a chair somewhere with oxygen. Don't let that man go anywhere.

00:59:35 - 00:59:52 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You know what I thought was really interesting? And I did not know this. He was a naval aviator during World War II. And so the U.S. Naval Institute tweeted about him for his birthday. And they said he's, you know, of the entertainers who are World War II veterans, very few are left. And he's one of them.

00:59:53 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, I interrupt your dirty to bring us a special guest who wanted to join and wish a very Merry Christmas.

01:00:00 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 1:

Happy holidays to all those. On the phone with us, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer on the Mojo in the Morning Show, joining us in the middle of the dirty on the 30.

01:00:08 - 01:00:09 | Speaker 2:

I love this.

01:00:09 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 1:

How are you, Governor?

01:00:11 - 01:00:22 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. I'm great. I'm glad I didn't hear the actual what happened in the White Lotus. I haven't watched it yet. But maybe with all those tourism dollars, maybe we should get them to do White Lotus, Mackinac Island.

01:00:22 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 1:

Would you imagine that? That would be great. That would be awesome. Hey, what does the governor watch? Do you binge watch shows like when you have a free moment?

01:00:31 - 01:00:45 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Right now, my husband and I are catching up on Yellowstone. Oh, it's good. It's a great show. But, you know, I have an eclectic taste. And he thinks that's not politics, although the governor, he just became governor in Yellowstone. That's right. Oh, yeah.

01:00:45 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 1:

That's actually, wait a second. That's a really good thing to bring up right now. So Kevin Costner becomes the governor of Montana in the latest season of Yellowstone. And there's one scene where he kind of, like, throws all of his people out, you know, all the people that are, like, giving him advice on what to do and stuff. What did you think of that? What did you think of how he kind of is governing his state?

01:01:08 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think that there's – it's fiction. And Montana's a much smaller state than Michigan. I remember the governor of Montana making some suggestions during one of our National Governors Association meetings. And then it kind of dawned on me, oh, it's a very different state. So, I can't speak to whether or not that actually happens in Montana, but it is fiction from my perspective.

01:01:30 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 1:

Now, is there a Christmas movie that you always have to watch this time of year?

01:01:35 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and it's not one of those, you know, Miracle on 34th Street. It is Trading Places with Dan Aykroyd. I love that.

01:01:45 - 01:01:46 | Speaker 1:

That's a great movie.

01:01:46 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 2:

I don't think I've ever seen that one.

01:01:47 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 1:

One dollar, you know. That is such a great movie. You've got to watch that. Yeah, I have to put it on my list this year. Wow.

01:01:53 - 01:01:56 | Speaker 2:

It's not for little ears. I'll just put it that way.

01:01:56 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 1:

No, that's interesting. We both share that. Will you be spending the holidays in Michigan, or will you guys be getting away and trying to go somewhere warmer?

01:02:06 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 2:

We'll be here, and I love it. I hope that we get a white Christmas. We'll have three generations of my family around and a small gathering, but I'll be getting ready for the inauguration. I've got to give a big speech on the 1st, and I'll be rooting for Michigan on the 31st. So, lots of good stuff happening.

01:02:24 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 1:

That's good. Governor, I appreciate you coming on the air with us. I wish you nothing but the best holidays are concerned. And I tell you that it's interesting. When I knew you were coming on with us today, I said, I've got to bring this up to her. So, we're in the process, just like you have been with your daughter. Our youngest is going away to college next year. And Luke's been looking at different schools. And it seems that some of the, like we thought for sure he's staying in Michigan. Like we were kind of excited about that, but he's starting to like lean towards going out of state. And my two older sons did the exact same thing. And I thought to myself, I'm like, I want to talk to the governor and have like a sit down with you as a, as a dad and a mom and talk about how we can keep these kids wanting to be in our state, going to our schools, because it's weird. our generation went to school here in in state and then we stayed in state raised our families and now i'm starting to see like i've lost two of my oldest boys to one going to you know chicago and one going to tampa and i don't want to lose luke he's looking at going to kentucky right now and i don't know what it is about the maybe the incentives are being offered more to go to these colleges out of state or what the story is but these kids want to go somewhere else and i want

01:03:43 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 2:

them to be the pride of of michigan absolutely well and we want them to come back even if they do choose to go out of state school which you know i don't know why anyone would because we're the best universities on the planet but even if they do choose to do that which is a normal thing you know it's important to grow to challenge yourself at that age especially but we want them to come home to michigan and that's why making michigan a place where young people see themselves see real opportunity that's centering so much of the work that we're doing so we're on the same page. And if you've got, you know, additional thoughts you want to share, I'd

01:04:16 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 1:

love to hear that. Seriously, we're going to do it. Actually, I want you to just talk to my son. Tell him, like, go to Michigan State or something. I don't know. I just don't want to see him away because all it is is more driving time for me. I don't want to deal with it. But Governor Gretchen Whitmer, I wish you and your family a very, very Merry Christmas. Thank you so much for going on the air with us and being a special guest on our Dirty on the 30.

01:04:40 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 2:

Thank you all. Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. Stay safe.

01:04:43 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. Take care of yourself. Bye, Governor. That's cool, isn't it? She's watching Yellowstone to figure out. I liked how Kevin Costner did that, though. He's like throwing everybody out. I have so many shows to catch up on. It's stressing me out at this point. White Lotus. I got to catch up on Yellowstone. All right.

01:05:00 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 2:

all of today's Dirty. Check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com. Get the stories you'll talk about all day on Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:05:08 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 1:

And another phone scan in minutes. Brianna. Hello. You're a winner. Congratulations. You've got $100 and you're qualified now for $10,000. That is so awesome. Thank you so much. You know what? You are so awesome for listening to us. We appreciate you having us on. And where are you listening? I'm Fenton. Appreciate that. Beautiful. And we have more to give away in just a few moments. We're going to be giving away a free gift card so that you can go get a Christmas meal on our friends over at Zot Ford. So that will come up when we do the Senseless Survey today. It's Tuesday. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So how are you doing Christmas? Are you spending Christmas, like, splitting time between your family and your boyfriend's family? Or what's the story, Shannon?

01:06:02 - 01:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it's slightly complicated this year because I will be with my family, my side of the family, and my kids on Christmas Eve. And actually, Wes is going to be joining my family for Christmas Eve. And then Christmas morning, I'll be at Andrews with the kids opening gifts on Christmas morning. and then I'll be with my dad Christmas day evening. And then on the 27th, we'll travel to Canada where Wes's family is and we'll spend the rest of the holiday with them.

01:06:36 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 1:

I forgot about that.

01:06:37 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 2:

So kind of like all over the place because his family, his siblings are all in Canada. So yeah, so I'll be there.

01:06:44 - 01:06:54 | Speaker 1:

I forgot that you got to go to Canada that Wes is Canadian. Yeah. Are there any kind of weird things that you guys got to do? Like, do they do weird Christmases in Canada?

01:06:54 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 2:

No, their Christmas is a lot like ours. But it's so funny you say this because Wes's family is Scottish. OK, so his entire family is from Scotland. And so they have a lot of traditions that they that they, you know, have had for years and years and years. And last year I got away with not partaking in one of them. And this year, I feel like because it's, you know, it's been over a year and we are in a very committed relationship. I can't I can't say no. Thank you to this tradition. They make Scottish breakfast. OK, and it's like a whole bunch of different things. But one of the things that is part of this Scottish breakfast is called black pudding, blood pudding, black pudding. Have you ever seen it? Wait, black pudding. OK, well, do you know what's in it? Yeah. Animal blood. Yeah. Like, that's what makes it black. And I don't know why. I'm sure it tastes really good. I can't do it. Sounds like a ritual. I don't know. But, like, and Wes prides himself on making it on Christmas morning for his family, too. And I'm like, oh, gosh. I mean, as, you know, as we move forward in our relationship, he's going to be experiencing my family traditions. And I'm going to be experiencing his. And this is one of his that, like, I can't say no to. It means so much to him.

01:08:13 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 1:

Could you imagine if your sister was dating Wes?

01:08:16 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that wouldn't happen.

01:08:17 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 1:

Your sister. My vegan sister. Your sister who won't even let you guys have a turkey on the table at Thanksgiving. You guys have to, like, hide it.

01:08:24 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 2:

He just texted me. He's listening. He goes, you are eating it. It's really good. Yeah, I just, I, like, last year his brother's a chef and he made it and I, like, I, like, kind of put a little bite in my mouth. I don't know. It just freaks me out what it is.

01:08:43 - 01:08:48 | Speaker 1:

Do you have to light candles in a star when you eat this? No. Or does that work? No. Is it baby's blood?

01:08:49 - 01:08:52 | Speaker 2:

No. It's like, I don't even know what the heck it is.

01:08:52 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 1:

They all put on like black outfits.

01:08:54 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

It's probably like goat or sheep or maybe pig. He makes it. I just texted him what's in it.

01:08:59 - 01:09:03 | Speaker 1:

So it's nothing weird. It's not a weird ritual. It's actually just a dish.

01:09:03 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 2:

No, it's like their tradition. But you know, you've got to start partaking in his traditions.

01:09:10 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 1:

Isn't it wild?

01:09:10 - 01:09:12 | Speaker 2:

This one makes me.

01:09:12 - 01:10:16 | Speaker 1:

It's wild when you actually start dating someone or marrying somebody, going to that next level, and then their traditions, they start bringing them into play, and you're like, oh, my God, that's tradition. Like, the food items and stuff. Like, I will never forget when Chelsea's grandfather married his wife. They're now divorced, thank God, because I used to have to eat stuffing with nuts in it. Who puts nuts in stuffing? Okay, that's wrong. I actually said to Chelsea, I go, I hate to say this, but I hope this relationship doesn't last for this reason. No, I'm just kidding. It was awful, though. I remember eating it the first time going, oh, my God, what is that? But I remember when I brought Chelsea to go to Chicago for the first time to go have a holiday with my family. And I remember. Remember, we were all raving about how great our food was. And I looked over at Chelsea, and she was not as raving as us. Like, you don't, you know what I mean? Yeah. Like, I'm sure Wes loves the blood pudding because it's wonderful. And then you might taste it and go, oh. But then again, you haven't tasted it yet. You might love it.

01:10:16 - 01:10:22 | Speaker 3:

He said he already bought it. It's cow's blood. And he went to the butcher to get it. So he's all ready to go.

01:10:22 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 1:

Ask him if it's sweet.

01:10:23 - 01:10:25 | Speaker 3:

It's not sweet. It's like rich.

01:10:25 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 1:

It's rich. Yes. Yeah. Rich like Megan.

01:10:29 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 4:

It's like a rich woman.

01:10:32 - 01:10:34 | Speaker 1:

Liam, hi. Have you tried this before?

01:10:36 - 01:10:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm Irish. It's a normal breakfast for us. Oh, really?

01:10:39 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 1:

It's a breakfast item?

01:10:41 - 01:10:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So black pudding is congealed pig's blood mixed with fat. And you normally, it comes like a sausage. You slice up and you fry it. Yes. And that with sausages and bacon and so on for breakfast is probably the best meal you'll ever eat.

01:10:57 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 1:

Any time that you have anything caju, are you single? It's good. Trust me. Sorry? Are you single? Megan would like to know.

01:11:06 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 4:

No. Every time I've called before because I was born in, I talked about the...

01:11:12 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 1:

She hits on everybody that calls with an accent. I don't know.

01:11:17 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 7:

Specifically Irish, but any sort of European person.

01:11:21 - 01:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Megan will actually give you her blood if you're single. what's up rob hey how's it going how you doing what's what's the uh the food item that uh when

01:11:36 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 5:

you get in a relationship you're like oh boy yeah so i'm not supposed to be here

01:11:42 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 1:

stop for a second oh man put your hand out the window you got a bad cell connection go ahead

01:11:47 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 5:

say that again oh no i said uh i'm induced i'm not supposed to be near any of this or touch her ear, talk about it. My family is foolish and they do duck blood soup.

01:11:59 - 01:12:17 | Speaker 1:

They do duck blood soup. Yeah. Okay. I forgot about that. Maybe Shannon can actually say that it's against her religion to have this blood. Tell them that you are vegan. You want vegan blood soup. What's going on, Rick?

01:12:18 - 01:12:33 | Speaker 2:

He already commented about the duck blood soup in Polish. It's called chad nina chad nina that's it is it good i don't like it yeah yeah what do you think channon's

01:12:33 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 3:

excuse can be to give to i don't really think i have an excuse the only thing i've got going for me is wes's daughter sam doesn't really like it either she thinks it tastes like dirt so i might just sit next to her and maybe we can like figure out a way to is there a dog around yeah yeah you

01:12:51 - 01:13:19 | Speaker 1:

know what uh you know what you do it's it's interesting is i you like meat like so you like a big steak and stuff and you like a big steak with like but i don't like my steak rare oh really no you don't no no you don't need it like all done yeah i like no yeah i like it oh cooked it's awful well wes you have better taste than this woman you can do so much better my friend And, well, enjoy your duck blood soup.

01:13:19 - 01:13:20 | Speaker 3:

Not duck blood. Cow's blood.

01:13:20 - 01:13:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, cow's blood. Yes. Yeah, I'd rather have, I think I'd rather have a cow's blood than duck's blood. I don't know why, but it just, to me, would be fine. Nicole, hello.

01:13:33 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 7:

Hello.

01:13:33 - 01:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Hi, what was the awful food item that you had to eat because you got into a relationship with someone?

01:13:39 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my goodness. My ex-mother-in-law used to make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. things but she boiled hard boiled eggs cut them up and put them in the mashed potatoes what oh my

01:13:51 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 3:

god that's crazy yeah it's strange like it doesn't sound bad to me it's just strange

01:13:56 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 7:

i would eat that i was not expecting it that's an unnecessary texture combo yeah absolutely it's

01:14:04 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 1:

it's not good did you did you do what megan said and feed it to the dogs or something like that Put it on your plate and leave it there?

01:14:12 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 7:

No. I took a little bite and then politely declined the rest.

01:14:17 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Somebody brings up a really good point on what you can do to make the cow's blood soup taste better. What do you do, Diane?

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 7:

It's not soup.

01:14:27 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 1:

Or whatever it is. Pudding.

01:14:28 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 7:

Oh, this is not for the soup. This is for the black pudding? Yes.

01:14:33 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, just put a lot of ketchup on it. Yeah. Yeah. You're right. I could do that.

01:14:38 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 1:

Or Jets Pizza Ranch. Bring a bunch of Jets Pizza Ranch with you because you can dip Jets Pizza Ranch.

01:14:46 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 3:

This is what it looks like. It looks like a sausage patty. It doesn't look like pudding. Even though it's called pudding, it looks like a dark black, like a dark red sausage patty.

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Diane, be careful. You stay on the phone with me long enough.

01:15:00 - 01:15:01 | Speaker 4:

We're going to have Megan hitting on you.

01:15:02 - 01:15:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, tell Shannon to tell Wes that I'm Scottish, too. I was born and bred there, and I make a really good Scottish shortbread. Oh, okay. And I actually won first place with the Scottish Highland Games in Livonia.

01:15:20 - 01:15:22 | Speaker 4:

Stop it. I love that.

01:15:22 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 2:

You sound just like his nana, by the way.

01:15:24 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 4:

Where do you keep your trophy? Where's your trophy for that?

01:15:27 - 01:15:35 | Speaker 5:

my trophy yeah did you get a trophy anything for that i i did it's like uh a pewter plate

01:15:35 - 01:15:46 | Speaker 4:

oh that's nice that's nice all right well thank you for the call thank you merry christmas or what do they celebrate in scotland do they celebrate oh they celebrate christmas what

01:15:46 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 1:

do you call santa claus in scotland ho ho man yeah santa claus it's wrong with you She's had a Scottish breakfast, too. Say that again?

01:15:54 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry, what did you say?

01:15:56 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 1:

Colleen Grant, she's had a Scottish breakfast, or what we're talking about. Oh, really, our boss? Our big boss, yeah.

01:16:02 - 01:16:04 | Speaker 4:

The blood casserole? Yeah, that's what it is.

01:16:04 - 01:16:06 | Unknown:

I'm like... Is that what it is?

01:16:07 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 4:

We're going to see how many questions we can get out this morning.

01:16:09 - 01:16:20 | Speaker 3:

You guys, you guys, you guys, great news. It's time for an official government survey. And when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s**t. This country is going to s**t.

01:16:20 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 1:

You got it on Mojo.

01:16:21 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning's senseless survey.

01:16:26 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hello, ma'am or sir. This is Bob Dobolina from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. You left a few answers blank in the last survey we mailed to you, and we were just following up. It should take only about 30 seconds because it's just three questions about issues that face American citizens today. Can we start with how many people currently reside in your home? Just one. Okay. And two questions left. On a scale of 1 to 10, how comfortable would you be letting Santa Claus view your Internet browsing history?

01:16:58 - 01:17:05 | Speaker 6:

I mean, if what I know about Santa Claus is true, he should already know what my Internet browsing history is.

01:17:06 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 2:

Very good answer. Getting a vibe for what people are thinking right now. Will you be paying $8 a month to get the blue checkmark and verified on Twitter?

01:17:15 - 01:17:19 | Speaker 6:

Definitely not. You said these are questions for the Census Bureau?

01:17:19 - 01:17:21 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Just wondering why you wouldn't do that.

01:17:22 - 01:17:23 | Speaker 6:

Why would I?

01:17:24 - 01:17:38 | Speaker 2:

Well, for equality, so everyone can be equal and have free speech if they pay $8 a month. Right. I'm pretty sure that's not how free speech works. Okay, we'll skip that question then. What term for gibberish do you prefer, gobbity-gook or mumbo-jumbo?

01:17:39 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 6:

This is definitely question four of three.

01:17:42 - 01:17:48 | Speaker 2:

Well, we didn't get an answer for the last one. I could skip both of those. We'll just wipe it fresh. And how about we go with, what do you think Stevie wonders?

01:17:51 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 6:

Probably what he's going to do with all his money.

01:17:53 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

And do you think the washer and dryer are real friends, or are they just work friends? Who now? The washer and dryer in your laundry room.

01:18:02 - 01:18:06 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so we have a very symbiotic relationship.

01:18:06 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 2:

Perfect. And would you buy eggnog-flavored cough syrup?

01:18:09 - 01:18:13 | Speaker 6:

No, I like neither eggnog nor cough syrup.

01:18:13 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 2:

All right, I asked the right woman. do you believe there should be a federal law put into place prohibiting parents from creating TikTok videos with their children? Yes. And do you think charcuterie is just lunchables that

01:18:25 - 01:18:36 | Speaker 6:

went to Harvard? I've made some charcuterie boards and I think there's a little bit more effort and thought hopefully that goes into and care into making a charcuterie board than a mass

01:18:36 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 2:

produced lunchable. Wonderful. I love that that was the most detailed answer and the thing with which you spoke most passionately about.

01:18:45 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 6:

I love a Chuck Higley board.

01:18:46 - 01:18:50 | Speaker 2:

All right. Do you think it's fair that horses get farted on more than any other animal?

01:18:51 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 6:

All right. I think I'm going to be finished with this. All right.

01:18:53 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 2:

Last question. If bed bugs live in bed, where do cockroaches live?

01:18:58 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Great. Mr. Bob Dabalina.

01:19:02 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 4:

Mr. Dabalina. Okay. More than 13 questions. 13 questions is exactly what Spike was able to get out from a person that sounds like a lot of fun to hang out with. I don't know.

Shannon's got the Dirty coming up with that opportunity to win cash and break up her makeup on the way, too. Let me grab the 95th and the 105th winners here today. Carissa, where are you from?

01:20:24 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

I live in Grand Rapids.

01:20:26 - 01:20:54 | Speaker 1:

Nice to have you on here. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with a $100 grocery gift card. So you got it from our friends over at Zot Ford. 01:20:54 - 01:20:54 | Speaker 3:

Love you too.

01:20:54 - 01:21:00 | Speaker 1:

You got a $100 grocery gift card from Zot Ford, too. So hang on the phone for just one second, okay?

01:21:00 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:21:01 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 1:

All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Another chance to win comes up when we do our next scam, which will be at 9.50 this morning. Okay, so Reese is like this sweet, innocent guy. But is he really so innocent? And if he was so innocent, why is it that the police are always after him?

01:21:24 - 01:21:26 | Speaker 3:

Again? Again.

01:21:26 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 1:

Let me get the drama. Let me get the dramatic flair.

01:21:31 - 01:21:32 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:21:32 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 1:

This guy, by the way, who he just looks like a typical nice young guy that grew up in the suburbs. And he attended Central Michigan University, Fire Up Chips.

01:21:44 - 01:21:45 | Speaker 2:

Fire Up Chips.

01:21:45 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 1:

But he's an evil guy that the cops want.

01:21:48 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 2:

That's what the cops see me rolling. Yeah. Perfect song. Perfect song.

01:21:53 - 01:21:56 | Speaker 1:

So, did you get pulled over and get another ticket, or what's the story?

01:21:56 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 2:

I did.

01:21:57 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 1:

How many tickets have you had, Reese? Believe it or not, this is my first ticket ever.

01:22:02 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 2:

What? Ever.

01:22:03 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 1:

Why, because you always get out of them, or what?

01:22:06 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 2:

I usually schmooze my way out, somehow, someway, but not this time. I was leaving work on Friday, and not even a mile away from the radio station, I get pulled over. For speeding? Yep, for speeding. I was going over one of those hills. You know how Farmington Hills has, like, a bunch of hills?

01:22:23 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 1:

That's why it's known as Farmington Hills.

01:22:24 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 2:

Sure. Hey. But, so I'm coming over one of these hills. That was the worst drum sound ever, by the way, but keep going. And so I'm coming over one of these hills, and all of a sudden, the second I get over, I notice this cop is hiding in this neighborhood. Can you stop for a second? What? Listen.

01:22:41 - 01:22:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm putting deodorant on.

01:22:42 - 01:22:46 | Speaker 3:

He's putting spray deodorant on while you're talking. I just needed to note this in the program notes.

01:22:46 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 2:

Can I use that, too?

01:22:47 - 01:22:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay. It was an ax body spray. No, it's dumb. I was. I was putting a little on. I just watched Mojo lift up his shirt and spray his pits, and I couldn't not talk about it. I'm sorry.

01:22:56 - 01:23:05 | Speaker 1:

I was sweating a little bit. I love this show. Okay. No, here's the problem. This building, I have no idea. I was going to ask Colleen this question today if I saw her today.

01:23:05 - 01:23:06 | Speaker 3:

No, please don't say anything because it's freezing out there.

01:23:06 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 1:

No, this whole building is honestly going to get me pneumonia because when you walk outside of the building after being in the hot studio here, it's so cold out there, like you said, that I feel like I'm freezing. Freezing. It's fine in here. Yeah, it's awful. Okay, so go ahead. So Reese got pulled over. You're going over a hill.

01:23:23 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 2:

Going over a hill. I get over this hill, and I look in this neighborhood. This cop is waiting for me. So I pass him. He pulls right out, and sure as hell, I get a ticket. So I couldn't smooth my way out. I tried. I was very honest. I was like, you know, I'm just leaving work. I'm just kicking off the weekend, you know. I'm just trying to get home. I don't live too much farther from here, and he wasn't about it. Which is a lie. When you smooth, is it a guy or a girl cop? It was a guy. Which I knew I was screwed from that moment. Because the last time I got pulled over, it was a girl cop, and she loved me. Yeah. She was like, oh, you have a great hat. She liked my hat. It wasn't even a cool hat, but she liked it. And, yeah.

01:24:03 - 01:24:05 | Speaker 1:

You do look like the all-American kid.

01:24:05 - 01:24:05 | Speaker 2:

You think?

01:24:05 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you kind of have that all-American kid look going.

01:24:08 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm glad I got something going for you.

01:24:10 - 01:24:21 | Speaker 1:

Who has had the most tickets listening to the show? Who's gotten pulled over the most? Because Reese by far gets pulled over the most. but this is something that he never gets a ticket.

01:24:22 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I definitely get pulled up.

01:24:24 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 3:

It's me for sure. That has the most tickets? Oh, for sure.

01:24:28 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 1:

How many?

01:24:29 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, we have two different kinds of tickets here in Ohio. You have, like, the tickets that you get from cops and then the tickets that you get from cameras. So I don't have that many from cops. I have a lot from the cameras. Oh, wow. I probably have five from the cameras and then three from cops.

01:24:47 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 1:

The camera cops, are they just red light cams or are they speed cams?

01:24:54 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 3:

Both.

01:24:55 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 1:

I hate that. Yeah, those suck because you don't even know how to get out of them. You can't talk.

01:25:00 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 3:

Talk to anybody to get out of those.

01:25:01 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 2:

You can't get out of them. And people say that you can, and I call those people liars.

01:25:05 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 3:

And you can't say that it wasn't you because they actually snap a photo of you.

01:25:09 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, no, wrong. My brother is in the driver's seat of one of the tickets I had to pay for, and it's clearly him, but it's my car, so I have to pay him.

01:25:19 - 01:25:21 | Speaker 3:

He's also like Reese, though. He's kind of innocent and sweet.

01:25:21 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's annoying.

01:25:24 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 3:

That sucks. Just because if you own the car, you're the one that has to get the ticket?

01:25:28 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 2:

And wherever the license plate goes, the ticket goes.

01:25:30 - 01:25:32 | Speaker 3:

That's ridiculous, because that's not fair.

01:25:32 - 01:25:33 | Speaker 2:

That's not fair at all.

01:25:33 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 3:

There's got to be some kind of a law that gets you out of that.

01:25:35 - 01:25:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you would think, but apparently in Ohio, all they care about is money. So I'm not salty about this at all.

01:25:43 - 01:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Mary. What's up?

01:25:45 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I just wanted to say that Reese sounds super cute, and I probably wouldn't have given him a ticket either.

01:25:52 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 4:

Aw. Thank you.

01:25:54 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 2:

Mary, can I ask you a question? How old are you? way older than reese okay so that you don't even have to say your age that was just the

01:26:03 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 4:

01:26:18 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 3:

01:26:31 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 5:

No, no. I would go to Eddie V's. Wes goes to Ramshorn. I would go to Joe Muir.

01:26:36 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. She's going to take you to expensive places. Did you hear this? She's going to take you to Eddie V's and Joe Muir's. Oh. Are you a single lady, Mary?

01:26:43 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 6:

I am not.

01:26:45 - 01:26:47 | Speaker 3:

Would you tell your husband or no?

01:26:48 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely not.

01:26:49 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 3:

Good. I like that. I'd be a great pool boy. I'm just saying. Would you adopt, Reese? I don't have a pool, but I would. um adopt him as your little love toy sure reese this sounds hey now this sounds fun let's go by the way this is the christmas of christmases it really is this would be you know reese by the way his outreach is amazing uh during the holidays he likes to give back to the community especially 50 year old women who want to cheat on their husbands so that's it he'll meet you later today hey, you guys can do like a liquid lunch later today at Eddie V's.

01:27:24 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 4:

Let me know where. Seriously, don't.

01:27:26 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 5:

I might DM him.

01:27:29 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 3:

Reese, talk to her some more and maybe. Oh, I knew this was coming. So how's it going? I want to hear Reese's game. Let's hear a little bit of Reese's picking up on a 50-year-old lady. So what's your favorite hobby?

01:27:46 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 6:

Come on, Reese. It's good to do better than that.

01:27:49 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 4:

Um, all right. What do I got?

01:27:52 - 01:27:56 | Speaker 3:

Ask her if she plays Wordle. Do you play Wordle?

01:27:58 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 6:

Um, Wordscape. My daughter plays Wordle.

01:28:02 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 3:

Even better.

01:28:03 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 6:

This is bad.

01:28:04 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever cheated on your husband? Ask her if she's ever cheated on her husband. Have you ever cheated on your husband? I honestly have not. Um, no. If you guys were to cheat, ask her. Why am I the one asking all the questions? Honestly, I appreciate this.

01:28:18 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 6:

I need your help. Okay, let me tell you. Let me tell you. No, I have not. I've thought about how to do that and actually get away with it, and it's super, duper hard, especially in the day of technology and trackers and all that. Yeah, it would help if it's not.

01:28:38 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 4:

Mary, good thing that I'm the social impact director and I know all about technology.

01:28:43 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 3:

Mary, is your husband just ignoring you right now? Hopefully. Are you feeling it? Hopefully.

01:28:48 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 2:

I really hope so. Don't make him laugh.

01:28:52 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 3:

Mary, is your husband not giving you enough attention? Honestly, be honest.

01:28:58 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 6:

It's the 20-year itch. You know how the seven-year itch? It's the 20-year itch.

01:29:01 - 01:29:01 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:29:01 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 6:

Oh. Okay, this makes me sad.

01:29:04 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 2:

You know what, Reese? This makes me really sad.

01:29:06 - 01:29:10 | Speaker 3:

I don't condone cheating. We do War of the Roses, but give it to this lady. Why don't you, please?

01:29:10 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 4:

I would love to. Lord.

01:29:14 - 01:29:24 | Speaker 3:

Let her have the afternoon of her life. I would be honored. Why don't you guys meet in the food court area of Somerset Collection? Let's go.

01:29:25 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 4:

There's no cameras there. Look at a little Chick-fil-A.

01:29:27 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 5:

Reese, your new nickname is No Riz Reese.

01:29:31 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 3:

It's got a ring to it.

01:29:32 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 5:

That is so funny. You guys are a lot of fun.

01:29:34 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care of yourself, Mary. Be safe. Merry Christmas.

01:29:38 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 5:

Merry Christmas.

01:29:39 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 3:

Tell your husband to run around the house naked or something, you guys together. You guys have a fun time with each other.

01:29:46 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 6:

Sure, with the three kids.

01:29:48 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 3:

Christ. How about this? Reese will babysit your kids. There you go. That's the thing. He's not going to cheat with you. He'll babysit so that you and your husband can have a night together.

01:29:58 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 6:

Thank you very much.

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care, Mary.

01:30:01 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 1:

Bye, Mary. Bye.

01:30:02 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Reese almost got himself one.

01:30:04 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 6:

Almost.

01:30:05 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 1:

That was just really awkward. Yeah. You know what I always think about in these situations, too? It's like, now she's going to go home tonight. Right. You know somebody heard that and was like, oh, I know Mary.

01:30:14 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 2:

No. And said she thinks about cheating on her husband, but can't figure out a way to do it without getting caught.

01:30:20 - 01:30:27 | Speaker 3:

We're not judging. What's up, Mike? No. Hi. Hello, guys. Good morning. How are you doing, Mike? That was fun, wasn't it? What's going on?

01:30:27 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that was exciting.

01:30:29 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:30:30 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 7:

Back on our Reese's topic, I had 17 tickets by the time I was 18. Wow. 17?

01:30:37 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 2:

So what was your issue? Like, why did you keep getting tickets? Speeding?

01:30:42 - 01:30:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I got a sports car as my first car. Okay. And that was not a good choice.

01:30:48 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 3:

17.

01:30:49 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 6:

But a family friend of ours was an attorney and handled a lot of my situations. and the kicker was when my insurance company sent me a letter saying that they would no longer insure me, and the state of Michigan would no longer insure me if I continued to get another ticket.

01:31:06 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

So you had to get rid of that car?

01:31:08 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 6:

I had to get rid of the car and shape up a little bit.

01:31:12 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 3:

The funny thing is, Reese does not have a sports car. What is it that you have, Reese?

01:31:16 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 6:

I have the slowest Jeep that they make. It's the Jeep Compass with, like, a four-cylinder engine.

01:31:21 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 3:

It's a four-banger behind it.

01:31:22 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 6:

It's pretty slow, yeah.

01:31:24 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Monica?

01:31:26 - 01:31:56 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I'm calling for Megan. I'm also in the Toledo area. I got four of those speeding tickets from the cameras in a two-week period. My girl. Yes, but that was when they had the loophole there where Toledo put everything on hold. I almost paid these tickets, and they had that loophole where then you wrote down at the bottom, It wasn't constitutionally right, da-da-da. I didn't have to pay any of them.

01:31:56 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 4:

Wow. What did you write? And also, were you on the trail for all of those?

01:32:03 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 5:

It was not the trail. I work at Toledo Hospital, and it was all at the same, it was the same one. And it would come, and then three days later, I got another one. And then three days later, I got another one. And then three days later, I got another one.

01:32:17 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 4:

I would never admit this, but it cracks me up when you're driving on the trail that everybody's driving 65 to 70 and then they slam on their brakes and they go down to 50 and then as soon as you hit that little humpy hill again everybody's taken back off to 65 70 you

01:32:29 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 3:

know what somebody needs to do somebody needs to climb the pole and put a duct tape over the camera

01:32:34 - 01:32:47 | Speaker 5:

a bag or something yeah and see my and so i got in so my husband was for these tickets i can't believe you're speeding and why you need to slow down and this and that and a week later he got one and

01:32:47 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 3:

we had a total of $600

01:32:50 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 5:

worth of these tickets but we didn't pay any of them, not a one

01:32:54 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning Terrence can top Reese and everybody that has called with how many tickets he's gotten, how many tickets? 27 27 tickets, is that amazing? That's just in one state That's just in one state, wait a second, you got how many in another state?

01:33:14 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 8:

I couldn't count them all

01:33:16 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 3:

27 tickets. Did you drive, like, a super-fast car? Like, what was the story?

01:33:22 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 8:

No, I drive semi, and the speed limit in California for trucks is 55 miles an hour, and I'm not going 55.

01:33:29 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. 27 tickets. How about Johnny? Johnny, tell everybody what happened to you.

01:33:36 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 9:

I got pulled over twice in two hours. I got pulled over for Tenant Windows going east. Then I got pulled over going back west. But the second time, I got arrested because I gave them the wrong ID.

01:33:53 - 01:33:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez. Wait a second. And wait, was it the same cop that pulled you over twice? Yes.

01:33:58 - 01:34:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Wait. What are the odds of that?

01:34:01 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 3:

What a douche, though, that he wrote you the ticket, one ticket, and then wrote you a different ticket the next time.

01:34:07 - 01:34:20 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, he pulled me over for Tenant Windows. I go, you don't remember you pulled me over? But I gave them a fake ID in the beginning, and it went through, and I was okay. But I forgot, and I got arrested.

01:34:20 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 3:

Why do you have a fake ID, and how the hell did you do that?

01:34:24 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 9:

I was using my brother's ID.

01:34:26 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 3:

Wait, she said like this.

01:34:28 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 9:

My driver's license was suspended. I gave them my license the second time, so I got arrested the second time.

01:34:35 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 3:

Shady, man. All right, well, thank you for the call.

01:34:38 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 9:

Shout out to Oster Douchebag.

01:34:41 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 3:

word of warning right now word of warning the porch pirates are out in full effect it's the mojo in the morning show you guys getting a lot of packages that are delivered to your house so got a uh email sent to our house from our neighbor

01:35:00 - 01:36:05 | Speaker 2:

asking us and all the other neighbors if you if you have one of those ring cams which we do by the way we have a ring cam if you can widen the scope of your ring cam for the next few weeks so here's what they asked to do and i think it's kind of like our local police department that's asking this too they are telling you that if you have any kind of like the cameras out in front that you can widen the area a little bit so that it's not just covering like your front doorstep, but it could actually be covering like your neighbors because they want to try to see if they can kind of catch who the people are that are going through the neighborhood and stealing packages off of the porches. Super smart. Has any listeners ever been recently nabbed by a porch pirate? Have you had anybody that took some of the stuff? And oh, here's a question. who's the craziest person you caught porch pirating because I've heard stories before that neighbors are porch pirating off of neighbors front doorsteps it still blows

01:36:05 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 4:

my mind that people do this I mean with I feel like so many people have a camera of some sort now like you're gonna get caught

01:36:13 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 2:

well and it's wild because if you hear the stories about sometimes the actual delivery drivers are the ones that are taking the items from you know the front porch like Like, and I don't want to, like, put anybody in this category, but if you had, like, a, say, a UPS delivery earlier, and then a person comes from another delivery service, and they come and take the delivered item from the UPS people. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like, they'll steal that item. And I've heard a couple of times. Actually, there was a story that was just recently out about an Amazon driver that was, like, notorious for doing this. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Hi, Mojo in the morning. Hello.

01:36:50 - 01:36:53 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hey, I was calling about the porch pirating.

01:36:53 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Are you guys getting these in your neighborhood?

01:36:57 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

Actually, I'm a FedEx driver.

01:37:01 - 01:37:05 | Speaker 2:

And so you guys have had this happen, huh, where you've witnessed people doing this?

01:37:06 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I've actually watched people in an SUV just falling behind me for, like, half my route and then stopping after I leave to pick up the packages.

01:37:15 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 4:

So do you call the police in that situation, I hope?

01:37:17 - 01:37:36 | Speaker 3:

uh i called my manager first okay and basically he told me to go back and talk to some of the people uh and they could file a police report but i was unable to uh due to my manager's kind of

01:37:36 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 2:

like discretion you know you guys have obviously a job to do right your job is to deliver the the packages the problem though is it will reflect bad upon in your case FedEx or whatever the other delivery services because people are going to assume that they did not get the delivery if somebody is coming in and stealing this thing and the sad the sad part is that these people are so brazen and they're getting away with it because the services are just sending you new packages instead of prosecuting these people that are stealing off of people's front porches.

01:38:13 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. Like, we fell in line with Amazon on being able to, like, take pictures of our stuff. Yes. And that's what we end up doing is we market to wherever we're dropping it, take a picture of it. So if it's at the front door, we'll take a picture of the front door with the package there. So that way there's no kind of arguing that it didn't happen. Most people have ring cams as well.

01:38:38 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Have you heard of people that have now in front of their homes? I've heard of this, where they'll have this item, which is like a big box that you cannot move. You put the package inside there, and the only person that can actually access that thing is the delivery driver or the people that own the home. It's basically something to protect. Have you had that at all in any of the front stoops?

01:39:00 - 01:39:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I deliver to a couple of law offices as well, and they have those. Have you seen about that at all?

01:39:07 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard of that before. So basically you're delivering to a lockbox. Okay.

01:39:11 - 01:39:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:39:12 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 4:

Like some Amazon drivers, right, can have a code that can get you into somebody's garage. Your garage, yeah. Yeah.

01:39:17 - 01:39:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Which, yeah, a lot of people sometimes fear giving that code to the Amazon driver, but it's almost safer giving them your code to your garage because it's not the actual code. It's a special code just for them to be able to open it for that one time.

01:39:29 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 1:

Right.

01:39:30 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 2:

And then they can be, you know, monitored. Yeah.

01:39:32 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 1:

I think that's what I have in my garage. I've never used it because I don't know how to use it, and I've never had to use it, but it's like the MyQ app or whatever.

01:39:40 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I have that too. I just don't have it set up for Amazon.

01:39:45 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 1:

So they can just walk up, and it opens your garage automatically?

01:39:48 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think they just push a button, and it goes right there. They have a way to do it through that app. Michael, what's up?

01:39:56 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how's it going, Mojo?

01:39:57 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 2:

Going okay. What's going on?

01:39:59 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Hey, so no.

01:40:00 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 1:

I, I just, uh, talking about porch pirates and it resonated. So about, um, just over a year ago, we actually lost, uh, lost our daughter. Um, and, uh, so people were sending stuff to the house, you know, unexpectedly, randomly, and somebody sent a gift basket and a neighbor saw somebody nab it off our porch. So, um, yeah, guilt moment for any porch pirates out there. Just, uh, You never know what a, you know, it's not always just a, you know, a tech toy or something that somebody sends to the house. Yeah, yeah.

01:40:32 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm so sorry about your daughter. Are you holding up okay?

01:40:35 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're, you know, we're hanging in there. We actually, we just had a son about a month ago, just over a month ago. So we're, you know, we're hanging in there. And, I mean, it's been a tough journey. But, no, it just, it resonated for a second. And, I don't know. I hope people think twice before they, you know.

01:40:55 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for calling, buddy. I appreciate you. I've been thinking about you. What's up, Felipe?

01:41:01 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how's it going?

01:41:02 - 01:41:03 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's happening, Felipe?

01:41:04 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 6:

Nothing, but you were talking about this metal box on porches.

01:41:08 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Do you have one?

01:41:09 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I have one. Last winter, we were porch pirated. We saw it on our Google doorbell. and so we decided my wife she's very amazon type of ordering person so we found one of those metal boxes on amazon and uh basically you get you get a passcode you whenever you order stuff you put it in the notes and fedex or ups just opens uh the box on your porch and it's everything safe so what What if what you ordered is too big for the box? I'm sorry, what was that? What if what you get is bigger than the box?

01:41:48 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 2:

You would think of that, wouldn't you?

01:41:50 - 01:41:53 | Speaker 6:

Well, I'm just saying. We have had that happen before.

01:41:53 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 1:

You know what she's talking about, if you know what I mean.

01:41:55 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Well, I don't know. Typically, they put it to the side of the house, or they just put it behind the box. So, in that box, it's like metal and heavy. Yeah, yeah. So they typically try to put it behind the box, or I just try to get there before anybody else does.

01:42:13 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 2:

Your box would be fine, Shannon. Don't worry. What's going on? How you doing, Mikayla?

01:42:19 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you doing today?

01:42:21 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Good.

01:42:22 - 01:43:08 | Speaker 4:

So we actually got porch pirated twice, and both were wedding gifts. Our first one was while we were at our bridal shower, and we saw them take it off our porch, And we reported it to Amazon and everything, but they weren't able to do anything because someone else bought it for us. But luckily, when we got home, we went in our backyard, and they had, like, opened it and left it laying out because they realized they couldn't use it. So they just kind of left it there. So luckily, we were able to recover that. But the second time, we had another wedding gift get dropped off, and it was a crate and barrel box. And it had just been dropped off for, I kid you not, like maybe five minutes. and my husband went down to get it, and he saw one of our neighbors walking away with it. Whoa. On a daily basis, walked by our house.

01:43:08 - 01:43:12 | Speaker 2:

Your own neighbor was stealing from you guys. So did he bust them?

01:43:12 - 01:43:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So, yeah, he ran out and, like, yelled at him, and was like, hey, like, that's ours. That's not yours. That's a wedding gift. Put that down. And he, like, put it down and then just walked away and didn't say anything.

01:43:22 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 2:

Un-freaking-real. Your own neighbor stealing off your front porch.

01:43:27 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 5:

yeah it was quite interesting to hear that one because it was like i like five minutes after it

01:43:33 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 2:

got delivered wow crazy what's up how you doing carolyn i'm good how are you we're doing okay be careful and beware of porch pirates we're talking about that this morning it's mojo in the morning

01:43:43 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 3:

yes i know um mine's actually interesting so it's not really from the front porch it's more of our back porch more or less our garage so let me paint you a quick picture my house is at the very end of like this really private mini subdivision type thing and our like our driveway goes wraps around the back of our house so it's pretty hidden it's not like an obvious thing well we had an amazon driver actually just like a week ago drive down our garage go into like or down to our backyard to the garage she got out of her truck she noticed there was a package it was a package from my mom and i to my dad and she opened the package she took it with her she took two of my, like, Christmas tree, mini Christmas trees that I made for a couple of our neighbors and then proceeded to back up, hit my car because it was sitting in our backyard, and then drive over our entire back lawn.

01:44:37 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 2:

Holy crap. So they're not even good porch pirates. Aren't they supposed to do this without doing all that damage?

01:44:44 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 3:

And we had a ring camera, too, so we saw the whole thing. Oh, my gosh, what a dummy.

01:44:49 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 2:

Awful people. Well, nobody said the porch pirates were smart, right?

01:44:53 - 01:44:54 | Unknown:

Right.

01:44:54 - 01:45:19 | Speaker 2:

that amazing you know i love the delivery driver that we have we have a delivery driver that's really good about hiding the packages. The only problem is I don't necessarily know where the hiding spots are. So if Chelsea's not home, Chelsea has to like walk me through where the drivers will hide stuff. But they're really good. Like they'll hide them in trees and things like that. The only problem is you've got to make sure you get them before a snowfall. It gets crazy.

01:45:19 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 1:

Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. Happy Holidays. Whatever the hell I'm supposed to say. Have a good day. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:26 - 01:46:42 | Speaker 2:

All right, Shannon with What's Trending this morning. Let me say everybody who's here, Mike and Megan, myself, Shannon, KP, Lydia, Reese, Katie, Spike out sick this morning. Hopefully, he'll be back tomorrow. And what's up?

01:46:43 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, we have a new couple alert to tell you about. Dua Lipa and Jack Carlo. So, the rumor just a couple of months ago was that she was hooking up with Trevor Noah. Remember, they were spotted smooching in New York City after, like, a dinner date. Well, that is no more. whatever it was. She has moved on to Jack Harlow, which I think is very fitting because his latest album does feature a song called Dua Lipa. But they met just a couple of weeks ago at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in LA. They've been in constant communication ever since, according to a really good source of mine. He actually flew into New York City on Friday night to meet up with her after she performed at our Z100 Jingle Ball. So, I mean, he's traveling for her. He's got to like her a lot of fun. Tory Lanez's The shooting trial kicked off yesterday with opening statements more than two years after Megan Thee Stallion accused him of shooting her in the foot. This thing's still going on. Prosecutors say that Tori fired a gun at Megan after she got out of an SUV during an argument in the Hollywood Hills back in July of 2020. And at first, LAPD reported the incident only as shots fired, a woman with foot injuries, and a guy arrested on a weapons allegation. And then, like, the layers of the onion started to be peeled. Megan revealed a few days later that her foot injuries came from those gunshots. Yesterday, the prosecution and the defense gave their opening statements and portrayed a very, very different version of events. Tori's lawyer argued that the altercation at the heart of this case was sparked by some jealousy between Megan and her former friend Kelsey Harris, both of whom allegedly had romantic relationships with Tori Lames. This lawyer also claimed that Megan had a history of hooking up with men that her friend was with and accused her of having a fling with NBA star Ben Simmons, which had caused a huge argument between the two women. The prosecutor, on the other hand, argued that Tory Lanez shot Megan Thee Stallion after she insulted his musical abilities. So those were just opening statements yesterday. Lots of drama. The trial does continue today. In a different courtroom yesterday, a former CNN producer pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl after luring her to his home. This is the most disgusting story. 45-year-old John Griffin met a woman online, persuaded her to bring her nine-year-old daughter to his million-dollar Vermont cabin where he engaged in sexual activity with this child. He paid the mom $3,000 to fly from Nevada to his home in Vermont where he directed this young girl to engage in unlawful sexual activity. And he did this a lot. He offered parents what he called sexual subservice training. He told the parents that he believed a woman is a woman regardless of her age and that as such, all women should be sexually subservient and inferior to men.

01:49:38 - 01:50:18 | Speaker 3:

He allegedly bragged about luring girls as young as seven years old to his home and doing this. Now, the mother in this case of this nine-year-old girl also arrested and slapped with child abuse and child sex assault charges. This man is a dad. He has three children of his own. He, of course, has been fired by CNN. He faces a minimum of 10 years. to prison. I read some of the stuff about this when it came out. He was the executive producer, one of the executive producers for Don Lemon Show, and would use the show as a way to pick up these parents to give their children to him, which is clearly in the wrong. Clearly in the wrong.

01:50:18 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 5:

Who are these parents? I agree. Yes! I mean, the whole story is just sickening.

01:50:24 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, they say that who is the number one person that will traffic you It was usually a relative. Yeah, a family member.

01:50:30 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. And lastly, Will Smith is worried that people without Apple TV Plus won't be able to see his new movie, Emancipation. Don't worry, Will.

01:50:39 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't think anyone else wants to watch it anyway.

01:50:41 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 5:

So he posted a video offering free access in case you want at it.

01:50:46 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 2:

All right. I've been reading a lot of the comments, and I see a lot of people saying they don't have Apple TV Plus. That's unacceptable to me.

01:50:54 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 1:

So I went to Apple, and I was like, yo, my people, you know, we got the film. My people need to have Apple TV Plus.

01:51:00 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 2:

So I got two months free.

01:51:02 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 5:

They're worried this movie is going to bomb, aren't they?

01:51:04 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 2:

Yes. For everybody to watch the movie. They're giving out. To rehab his perception. Yes. Go to apple.co.com.

01:51:12 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 3:

You know what's amazing? I hate the voice changer and things that people put on their TikToks.

01:51:19 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 5:

So do I.

01:51:20 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 3:

I don't know what it is about it. Like when it's speaking for you, it drives me absolutely crazy.

01:51:25 - 01:51:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm the same way. I have no idea. What up, y'all? This is Will Smith with Mojo in the Morning.

01:51:31 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 3:

That was actually that device of me talking there.

01:52:50 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 4:

This year, I'm asking Santa for a big, fat bank account. And a slim body. Hope he doesn't mix those up like last year.

01:52:58 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 3:

Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning. Mojo's breaking and entering Christmas wish. Granting wishes throughout Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo. And we have all our wishes and the videos up on our social media. And you should go check them out. Because I'm going to tell you this. I, like, sob like a baby when I'm listening on the air and we're doing them. When I watch the videos and get to see what Mike and Reese and all of the wish-granting angels are doing, it just really gets to me. Like, seriously, I get very emotional. But I would love for you to go check them out. I was talking to my sister yesterday. Actually, it was me and Mike were talking to my sister yesterday and Pat. She called me up during the show. And Pat, or actually after the show, she doesn't usually bother me during the show. But she's a sweet lady. She's the best lady. I don't know if she's up this early in the morning because she's on Central Time Zone in Chicago. But Mike, we were talking to her and she was like, she got so excited to talk to Mike because Mike was the famous guy that does The Wishes. She watches The Wishes all the time. Yeah, yep. She was so sweet and invited me to stay when I'm in Chicago, which is awesome. Yeah, come stay at her house, she says.

01:54:32 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 5:

Isn't WGN her show on right now?

01:54:34 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yeah. She watches the WGN Morning News.

01:54:36 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 5:

The one guy. She likes that one guy. What's his name?

01:54:39 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 3:

Pat, what the hell is it?

01:54:40 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 5:

Hi, I can't get to the phone right now.

01:54:42 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she's not answering.

01:54:43 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 5:

How do we reach out to WGN and have them do a special shout-out to Pat from us? Tomasulo?

01:54:49 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Pat Tomasulo, yes. I would love to do that. You know how the local TV stations will have their own local news? WGN is kind of like...

01:55:00 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 2:

their unaffiliated news station that does nonstop local news the whole time. And if they said hi to my sister Pat in the morning show and did something for Pat, oh my God, she'd probably poop her pants.

01:55:14 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 1:

Or can you get him to do a cameo or something for her?

01:55:16 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. For Christmas. Check and see if anybody from WGN's on Cameo. Because I should get her a cameo.

01:55:22 - 01:55:23 | Speaker 1:

She would die and go to heaven.

01:55:24 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 2:

I should see if they're on. Hold on, let me see. Cameo. Do you have the app?

01:55:27 - 01:55:28 | Speaker 1:

Is there a Cameo app? I do.

01:55:28 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 2:

I have the Cameo app. Because remember, I bought you guys your cameos.

01:55:31 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 1:

Still one of my favorite Christmas gifts of all time.

01:55:32 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 2:

All right, hold on a second here. WGN, WGN. Let's see if anybody there is on there. Oh, they do have a couple people here.

01:55:40 - 01:55:40 | Speaker 1:

Is he on there?

01:55:41 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 2:

No, they're all the TV. They look like they're radio. Nobody from that show. I'll have to call him up. Hit him up on social media. Maybe I say Fred has any connections with him. Oh, speaking of that, I got to talk about this. What? Before we get into breakup or makeup, I want to talk about this.

01:55:56 - 01:55:58 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I know it's good when you lower your voice like that.

01:55:58 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 2:

I've got to mention this. So yesterday there was a big story that came out on social media that one of our Detroit news people got fired. And it's somebody who a lot of people know because he was pretty well liked.

01:56:16 - 01:56:20 | Speaker 1:

I was bummed when I saw that news I sent it to you last night. I was really bummed.

01:56:20 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 2:

A lot of people like Jason Carr from WDIV, Local 4. He's that guy with the good-looking beard and kind of an attractive guy who's married to Taryn Asher from Fox. Hold on. Pat's calling real quick. Sorry about that. I'll get back to it in a second. Just checking. Hi, Ann Pat.

01:56:43 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Ann Pat. Hi.

01:56:45 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Pat, we were just calling up this morning just to see how you're doing.

01:56:51 - 01:56:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, don't ask me. I'll tell you.

01:56:56 - 01:57:08 | Speaker 2:

But I was also promoting our Breaking Night and Christmas wish, and the fact that you watch each and every video that is posted and make yourself miserable crying watching these things.

01:57:08 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 3:

I know. I did last night. In fact, I was just telling Tracy about last night.

01:57:12 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 2:

My sister. Yes, Tracy. Your sister, too?

01:57:15 - 01:57:16 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. My sister, too.

01:57:16 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 2:

What were you telling her?

01:57:17 - 01:57:18 | Speaker 3:

My sister first.

01:57:18 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 2:

That's right. That's right. Your sister first. What's going on?

01:57:22 - 01:57:25 | Speaker 3:

You were the last one. Why were you the last child, Tom?

01:57:25 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 2:

I was the baby, that's right

01:57:27 - 01:57:31 | Speaker 3:

Saved the best for last They got perfection and they stopped

01:57:31 - 01:57:46 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for that I sent that to Luke by the way You sent me this meme yesterday And I sent it to Luke and Luke loved it Because he's our baby So Pat, tell our listeners Why they should watch those videos Those Breaking Under and Christmas Wish videos

01:57:46 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 3:

You know what, it makes you When you have your own problems It makes you realize that your problems Sometimes they're not as bad as you think they are sometimes they are but sometimes they're not it just gives you it gives you a few minutes to think

01:58:00 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 2:

01:58:27 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, on your sliding glass window?

01:58:29 - 01:58:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. No, I'm fine.

01:58:31 - 01:58:33 | Speaker 2:

We've got to figure that out. We'll see if I need...

01:58:33 - 01:58:35 | Speaker 3:

A new car? A new car?

01:58:35 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 2:

What do you think this is? The Price is Right?

01:58:38 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 3:

Oprah.

01:58:39 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 2:

01:58:40 - 01:58:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. No.

01:58:41 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 2:

Pat, we were just having a discussion about how much you love WGN's morning news.

02:00:21 - 02:00:34 | Speaker 1:

mike have you ever had that happen to you when you granted a christmas wish where they ask you to do household items for them while you're there? Not yet, no. Oh my God, that would be funny. All right, well, listen, Pat, I got it.

02:00:34 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 2:

What do you do him is the question. What do you do him? Is he that sweet off air?

02:00:39 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 1:

Mike, are you that sweet off air? I would cover an air conditioner. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So wonderful. All right, well, listen, Pat, I love you so much. Merry Christmas. You've got a

02:00:50 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 2:

terrible cough. You better take care of that.

02:00:52 - 02:00:56 | Speaker 1:

I am. Dr. Dr. Warner just gave me a steroid to take.

02:00:57 - 02:01:01 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Yeah, that's good, too. You know what Dad would tell you to do? What's that? Jewish penicillin.

02:01:01 - 02:01:02 | Speaker 1:

That's right.

02:01:03 - 02:01:07 | Speaker 2:

What's that? Chicken noodle soup. Oh, yeah. Yeah, but you can't have the noodles.

02:01:07 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 1:

I know. Chicken noodle soup is the king of everything. Actually, I went to Steve's Deli and got myself some, so I'll get some more today. All right, I love you.

02:01:16 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, they probably don't use noodles. Okay, love you, too. Have a good day, guys. Bye, Pat.

02:01:19 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 1:

Bye, Pat. I'm glad we granted you a Christmas wish. All right.

02:01:22 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, okay. All right.

02:01:24 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 1:

I'll talk to you later. Bye. Go back to this Jason Carr thing for one second. And then we'll get to break up our makeup.

02:01:29 - 02:01:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:01:30 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 1:

So this Jason Carr thing, I can't figure out what happened to him. So they say Jason Carr got fired. It says Jason Carr, a popular WDIV, Channel 4 host and anchor, was terminated. He was let go sometime last week. A source familiar with the situation told the Detroit Free Press, Carr was terminated after he criticized his co-workers during Jason Carr live segment on December the 6th.

02:01:59 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 4:

Whoa. Criticized his co-workers.

02:02:02 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 1:

He criticized a co-worker, yeah. That's what we do every day.

02:02:06 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's got to be more than that. Because that's, yeah.

02:02:10 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 1:

So it said that his bio no longer appears on the local force staff page. Carr did not respond to requests for comments. Carr has amassed a large following on social media and has been at Local 4 since 2016. He is the husband of Fox 2 WJBK TV anchor Taryn Asher. Oh, I love Taryn. I know you do. They are a hot couple, too.

02:02:42 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they really are.

02:02:44 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 1:

But he must have, I don't know what the story is. He must have said something that obviously got somebody so pissed off that they went to HR and they got him fired. But I would think he would be a big enough personality that he could withstand, you know. And especially if he was live on his TV show. I wonder what he said. I'd like to know what he said.

02:03:02 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 3:

I feel like you could, people complain about their co-workers on the news all the time. All the time. You can tell when they hate each other. And I feel like this had to be extreme for him to actually be let go. I feel like this is being downplayed.

02:03:18 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 1:

I wonder what the story is.

02:03:19 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 3:

Also, if we start complaining about our coworkers getting fired, oh, man, I'm out pretty quick here.

02:03:25 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 1:

We're all in trouble right now. It's interesting because I got to tell you, I thought that the guy had multiple – he was one of those guys that could do anything. He could do the hard news. He could do the lighthearted stuff.

02:03:37 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 4:

He did the Live in the D show.

02:03:39 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, which is like their local show where all they do is plug sponsors and make money for like an hour or something like that.

02:03:45 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 4:

That show, while we're talking about it, you know what drives me crazy every day that we watch that show? Because I say it in the studio. The flowers on there. Pat just mentioned the poinsettias are dying on WGN. The flowers on Live in the D are the worst fake flowers. And they're right there in the center of the table.

02:04:01 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 1:

But they're smart. They've got fake flowers that don't look like they're dying.

02:04:03 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 4:

And with no water in the vase. They don't even try.

02:04:05 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 1:

The thing I don't understand with the whole firing of the TV person like this and the co-worker thing is that these TV stations now are doing their own, like, watch us on our Internet access thing. And they're trying to fill more content than they ever had to fill before. And the problem is this is what ends up happening. It's like a radio show. You know, normally they're used to scripted stuff. Everything's all scripted. These guys really don't do anything, you know, live. They do it off of a teleprompter. And when they give them more content to produce because they have to do it on their live on the D, watch us on, you know, whatever website or, you know, channel 189 on cable, you got to fill content. And then now you got somebody that's upset over something that was said. But I don't know. I don't know. It's interesting. We're going to have to explore that. Can Shannon's Dirty on the 30 do some investigating? Will you call? Aren't you friends? with some people at that station that can give you like a, we can voice disguise them or something?

02:05:05 - 02:05:08 | Speaker 4:

I mean, yes, so are you.

02:05:08 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 1:

Let's call them and find out what's going on. I want to know. I want to know why

02:05:11 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 4:

you got fired. I know who'll give us the dirt.

02:05:13 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 1:

Let's find out. We're going to find out. We'll update

02:05:15 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 4:

in the next Dirty Report. Oh my god, I gotta do it fast.

02:05:18 - 02:05:44 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Breakup or Makeup. You tell us if you think that this thing is a little fishy. On the phone with us right now are Nicolette and Trevor and it's all over a purchase, a purchase that was made that's unexplainable. And Nicolette, it was a purchase that you saw in your credit card statement that it was something that you didn't buy.

02:05:45 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, it's like a store that I never shopped at.

02:05:49 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so...

02:05:50 - 02:05:52 | Speaker 3:

It's a woman's store that I never shopped at.

02:05:52 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 1:

So there was a purchase for how much money was it?

02:05:56 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 3:

It was $75.

02:05:57 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so $75. Not a huge purchase, but big enough that it made you go, oh, what happened here? So you asked your husband about this and said, did you buy something there? And what was his explanation?

02:06:13 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 3:

He said that he didn't want to get into it because it's like personal. It's none of my business.

02:06:20 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's kind of suspicious.

02:06:22 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 3:

Exactly, right? And it's a joint bank account. So, like, you would think you wouldn't be that stupid to buy something that I shouldn't know about. But apparently I shouldn't know about this.

02:06:36 - 02:06:39 | Speaker 1:

On the phone with us is Trevor. Trevor, how you doing?

02:06:41 - 02:06:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, I'm doing okay. I'm doing all right.

02:06:46 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 1:

Is there anything to this purchase? because I think that you're going to get yourself in more trouble by not actually giving an explanation. And I worry that it might be something innocent. So did you make this purchase? Did you buy this item? Yes.

02:07:09 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't matter what it is. And it, I mean, it doesn't, it doesn't matter what it did

02:07:20 - 02:07:30 | Speaker 1:

But does it matter, I guess the thing is, does it matter who it was for? Would you be willing to say who it was for that you made the purchase?

02:07:33 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 2:

Well, like to everybody right now, I think that what I'm trying, it's, it's, it was something special and you know

02:07:44 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 4:

For Nicolette?

02:07:48 - 02:07:54 | Speaker 2:

Well me sharing that right now isn't going to it's beside the point.

02:07:55 - 02:08:00 | Speaker 1:

So I will say this is the time of the year where I don't know if you should question purchases.

02:08:00 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Right. Well that was my first thought. But then why wouldn't you just say it's I bought you a gift I don't want to ruin the surprise. instead like i feel like you're acting super shady about it well no it's because you already

02:08:16 - 02:08:23 | Speaker 2:

have you have a paranoia about it that the seed that got planted that um sparked your insecurities

02:08:23 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 1:

but that's there's nothing to be insecure about can i can i say what the uh the store was that where you bought this just to kind of maybe put it in people's minds even more are you sure but it's not gonna matter so it was from that store windsor have have you ever shopped there before like the like for dresses yeah the the store that's in the mall oh yeah yeah so so it was a it was an item that was was purchased at uh that store in the amount of of like 75 ish dollars or whatever okay and nicolette you do not shop there i do not no Do you think that maybe This is something that Trevor is Like giving you for Christmas And maybe you should wait and see what happens And not get so worried about it

02:09:16 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 3:

I thought that he bought it for my birthday Which is the end of November And I didn't get anything

02:09:24 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 1:

And you didn't get anything Oh wait so the purchase was actually made a while back

02:09:28 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah

02:09:29 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Alright so if you see that There was a purchase that was made at a women's clothing store and you weren't the one that made that purchase and your spouse is not being specific as to what was purchased but is admitting that he made the purchase do you give him the benefit of the doubt just to kind of wait and see what happens or do you jump to a conclusion that potentially because again it it stinks if it is if it was supposed

02:09:59 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

aspect.

02:10:00 - 02:10:09 | Speaker 8:

christmas gift and you know the surprise was ruined but at least the surprise she doesn't know what it is but at least calm her her brain and say it is a gift for you i just don't want

02:10:09 - 02:10:14 | Speaker 1:

to spoil the surprise uh tamra what's up it's mojo in the morning break up her makeup your

02:10:14 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 7:

thoughts hey guys so i agree with shannon like i think that maybe this was a gift for the wife but the husband's making it a little suspicious because he's not openly admitting that this is a gift so the reason that everybody is suspicious about it is because of the way he's acting about it if it's a gift it's a gift and there you can shut it down with that but now he's just making

02:10:39 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 1:

he's making it messy yes i'm i'm the type of person that honestly doesn't like messiness so i would just admit i'd give it right now like i would if this is a gift for well it's causing

02:10:50 - 02:10:54 | Speaker 8:

problems in your relationship yeah your relationship is more important than whatever

02:10:54 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 1:

this gift is or whatever it is i would be smart enough to figure that out what's going on how you

02:10:59 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 4:

doing morgan hi um i was just gonna say it seems like he's kind of gaffetting her in a way by saying oh you already have insecurities about this when shannon said there's an easy way to take away her insecurities and say hey yeah this is a surprise for you i'll i'll give it to you soon but he doesn't want to do that he's being very coy about it yeah uh in making things worse

02:11:22 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 1:

I think in the process what's up Lauren hi

02:11:25 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 2:

Hi this is how it all started With Bruce Jenner and I think he's a cross dresser

02:11:29 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh man I don't know if I'd go that far

02:11:31 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 2:

I mean Come on

02:11:33 - 02:11:35 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

02:11:35 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 8:

You and every other texter by the way are saying that So you're not alone in your thinking but

02:11:40 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 1:

I don't know

02:11:42 - 02:11:47 | Speaker 2:

It's not even a store his wife Shopped at so that's really weird

02:11:47 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 1:

By the way is that really how it happened With Chris figuring this thing out

02:11:51 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but he probably didn't Oh, okay I thought maybe

02:11:55 - 02:11:57 | Speaker 1:

I thought there was a charge for Windsor

02:11:57 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm not thinking that

02:11:59 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Jen?

02:12:01 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 5:

Guys, she got him on the wrong segment This should be a War of the Roses, not a breakup or makeup

02:12:06 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 1:

Jen, I was thinking the same exact thing

02:12:08 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 8:

You know what this reminds me of? Jen, have you ever seen the movie Love Actually? No Oh, yes Jen, okay, first up That's your homework tonight, but there's a scene in Love Actually where Emma Thompson discovers that her husband bought a necklace in this square shaped box and so on Christmas she gets really excited to open it because she thinks it's the necklace and it wasn't. It was a Joni Mitchell CD and he gave the necklace to the girl he was cheating on her with.

02:12:40 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 1:

Uh oh. Yes.

02:12:42 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 5:

This is what this reminds me of. Yeah. You know what? Christmas is only one day and he's about to put her through misery for a whole month over one day. That's what

02:12:50 - 02:12:53 | Speaker 8:

That's what I'm saying Right exactly Yeah Just settle her mind

02:12:53 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 5:

So what I'm hearing is Send another email And call back This need to be War of the Roses Get them

02:12:58 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah What were you going to say Megan

02:13:00 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 7:

What I'm hearing is If you're going to cheat Get both partners The same gift for Christmas

02:13:05 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Right

02:13:06 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 7:

Is that what we've learned today

02:13:09 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 1:

Or a Joni Mitchell CD

02:13:11 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 3:

That's it

02:13:12 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 1:

Do you know that scene I do And I love that song By the way too What's going on Mojo in the Morning

02:13:19 - 02:13:31 | Speaker 3:

Jamie hi good morning hi so I'm thinking that he's possibly cross-dressing I know that's what

02:13:31 - 02:13:52 | Speaker 1:

02:13:52 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 8:

02:14:10 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 1:

Speak up.

02:14:11 - 02:14:11 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mozo.

02:14:12 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 1:

How are you guys? Okay, hold on. Let's see. What is your name?

02:14:16 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, Marcy.

02:14:17 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 1:

Marcy. Oh, okay. Were you just muted and then you couldn't talk?

02:14:21 - 02:14:21 | Speaker 6:

Hello?

02:14:21 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, hi. What's going on?

02:14:22 - 02:14:23 | Speaker 6:

No, she's listening to her radio.

02:14:23 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she's listening to her radio.

02:14:24 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 6:

Hi, guys. I love you guys. I love listening to you guys. We love you, too.

02:14:28 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 8:

Yes, you are listening to us.

02:14:29 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

02:14:31 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 6:

Just wanted to call and say that that was exactly how I had caught my ex-husband cheating was by receipt. and the way that he was saying now is not the time.

02:14:43 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she's now listening to everything. Let's just let her talk.

02:14:46 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 6:

I turned off my radio.

02:14:48 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 1:

You did? Oh, are you there? Can you hear us now?

02:14:51 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 6:

I did. Can you hear me?

02:14:52 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I got you now. She lied.

02:14:55 - 02:14:57 | Speaker 5:

She did not turn off the radio. Once you hear your voice,

02:14:57 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

what was the receipts?

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 3:

Where were the receipts from?

02:15:02 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they were from motels.

02:15:04 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Well, that's obvious, yeah.

02:15:06 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 5:

They were from motels. Not just, I mean, there were stores, too, but they were months worth that had finally added up, and then I had finally figured it out. And, yeah, I just want to say that that guy, the way that he said, now is not the time to talk about it, he's definitely cheating.

02:15:21 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Well, he came on with us, so I give him at least the credit for doing that.

02:15:26 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:15:26 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 2:

I also hope it wasn't just, like, some nice gift that he was going to be giving her for Christmas and we're making this, like, the next three weeks of fighting. Mojo in the Morning, break up or make up?

02:15:40 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on Sex. Coming up in minutes.

02:15:44 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 4:

6 on 6 on 6. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking. Isn't that okay?

02:15:52 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on Sex. Jillian, do you talk about sex with your dad?

02:15:58 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 7:

No, I never talk about sex with my dad.

02:16:02 - 02:16:04 | Speaker 3:

I mean, who does, who wants to, you know what I mean?

02:16:04 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:16:05 - 02:16:06 | Speaker 3:

And what does your dad do for a living?

02:16:07 - 02:16:09 | Speaker 7:

He has a construction business.

02:16:09 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 3:

02:18:26 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 7:

Hopefully Dad hasn't seen that movie. What movie is that from? It's called Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Dad.

02:18:33 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 3:

Dad, do you remember that scene in the kitchen?

02:18:35 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 8:

Yes, yes. Let's not talk about that one, huh?

02:18:38 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 4:

That's the one your daughter wants to reenact.

02:18:41 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 8:

Great. I'll just turn the page on that one. How's that?

02:18:46 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 3:

Question number three and six on sex. Angelina. I'm sorry. I'm calling you Angelina. Jillian. Have you ever had a one-night stand? And if so, how many?

02:19:02 - 02:19:03 | Speaker 7:

Only one.

02:19:04 - 02:19:05 | Speaker 6:

One, no.

02:19:05 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 7:

Was it with anybody that Dad might know? No.

02:19:09 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 6:

Was it someone that you knew?

02:19:11 - 02:19:11 | Unknown:

No.

02:19:13 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 8:

I'm going to talk to her mother.

02:19:16 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 3:

Why do they always blame the mother for this?

02:19:19 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 6:

I know. That's how guys are.

02:19:22 - 02:19:30 | Speaker 3:

All right, question number four in Six on Sex. Jillian, where did you lose your virginity? Oh, God. Oh, God.

02:19:31 - 02:19:37 | Speaker 6:

I don't even think I can say it. It was at school in the spirit room.

02:19:38 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 4:

In the spirit room?

02:19:40 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

02:19:40 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 7:

Was this during school or was this after hours? It was during school. Thank God. I'm sorry. Does dad know who it was with? It was with my boyfriend at the time that he hated.

02:19:54 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 8:

Can I go smack that kid now? I know who she's talking about.

02:19:58 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

Question number.

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 2:

At five and six on sex, Jillian, have you ever heard your parents having sex?

02:20:07 - 02:20:13 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I have. So he should feel awkward about that one. Yeah.

02:20:13 - 02:20:16 | Speaker 2:

Did you know that, Dad? No, I guess I do now.

02:20:18 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 1:

Keep it down in there.

02:20:19 - 02:20:29 | Speaker 2:

And last question, Jillian, besides sex toys, what have you used in the bedroom to spice things up?

02:20:30 - 02:20:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. I don't want to say that. I mean, there's a few things, but I guess we'll go with flavored condoms. Oh, my God. At least it's safe.

02:20:49 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 2:

Dad, you have survived six on sex. Congratulations.

02:20:55 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 3:

02:21:26 - 02:21:29 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:21:29 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 2:

Today's Taylor Swift's birthday.

02:21:32 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she's 33 today.

02:21:33 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 2:

Look at that.

02:21:34 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 1:

Birthday to her. And good news, like you said, for some Taylor Swift verified fans. You guys are getting a second chance to purchase tickets. A little bit later this month is when it's happening for her Aeros Tour. After Ticketmaster canceled sales due to high demand. I mean, obviously we don't need to go back and revisit that debacle. But verified fans will have a limited opportunity to purchase tickets. You only get two each to her upcoming tour. And this is part of the email that was sent to fans yesterday. It said, we apologize for the difficulties you may have experienced and have been asked by Taylor's team to create this additional opportunity for you to purchase tickets. And so the only thing I know is the new tickets will be available at some point before Christmas time. dma3 co-anchors tj holmes and amy robach will remain off the air pending the completion of an internal review so you're not going to see him for a little while abc news president kim godwin didn't really specify what the probe is looking at a good source of mine said most likely they're looking at whether abc's morality rules might have been violated so like all of the hosts on Good Morning America, ABC, the news correspondents, they're generally, this is really true of any network, they're generally subject to morality clauses that forbid them from behaving in a way that might cause harm to the reputation of the company. And so they're saying, does this fall under that category?

02:22:59 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 2:

Interesting.

02:23:00 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

02:23:02 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 2:

As far as the Jason Carr thing goes, we're not getting anywhere with any kind of details on why he got fired. I can't believe our sources have been so bad on this thing. But we'll figure out exactly what happened to Jason Carr and why he got fired.

02:23:18 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 1:

Everybody's very tight-lipped here.

02:23:19 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:23:20 - 02:23:21 | Speaker 1:

Or there, I should say.

02:23:21 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. We're at WDIV Local 4. The chips may fall where they may, but Jason Carr, if you want, we're taking two weeks off at Christmastime. You are more than welcome to come in here and run our Best Of show. I don't know if he's bored ops. I don't know what he's ever done. I know he's a Michigan State grad, but maybe he will. Maybe he'll want to do that, be a bored op for us. but who knows um can i um can i tell you something about this tj holmes guy yes so i talked to a friend of mine that uh is a television producer in new york who told me that this tj holmes guy has like the worst reputation out there like yeah that that they say he's a cocky kind of bastard yeah and i and i interesting because i watched the show and he's like good looking he's smooth He kind of does his thing And I would never have predicted that And then yesterday you did the story About how Robin Roberts David Muir, George Stephanopoulos

02:24:17 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 1:

Well they're all just trying to distance themselves From any of this

02:24:19 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 2:

They all didn't like that this affair was going on And they all wanted it to stop And they wanted them called out for this thing And you would think if they liked him Or in her They would have said hey come on This is no really big deal They're consenting adults Whatever the whole deal is

02:24:36 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 4:

yeah like at the same time like these people are protecting their jobs and their careers now you're

02:24:40 - 02:24:46 | Speaker 2:

robin roberts or george stefanopoulos or david muir you got you're you're like the big deal megan

02:24:46 - 02:24:57 | Speaker 4:

everybody is fireable you think so every single yeah you think they would fire robin roberts they fired matt lauer of course everybody is fireable yeah but everybody matt lauer had a

02:24:57 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

He has a secret button in his office.

02:25:00 - 02:25:02 | Speaker 3:

That's why they fire everybody is fireable.

02:25:02 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's the thing I think about when these local TV guys like Jason Carr gets fired. Like nobody really is running to the guy's defense right now, which I'm kind of shocked by because he always seemed like a nice gentleman. Yeah, but I don't know.

02:25:14 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 1:

Unless you or your family owns a company.

02:25:17 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 2:

If I get fired, you're going to run to my defense.

02:25:19 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 1:

Depends on what you get fired for.

02:25:22 - 02:25:24 | Speaker 2:

Come on. Run to my defense.

02:25:24 - 02:25:29 | Speaker 3:

No, you could do something very horrendous. No, you would not for everything.

02:25:29 - 02:25:36 | Speaker 2:

Scott Sands numerous times has told me, he's like, I want her out of here. And I said, nope, you keep her here. I like her.

02:25:37 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I got a severance on the line. So don't you keep that for me either.

02:25:41 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 2:

How come I keep getting texts saying Mojo's always telling them to fire you? I don't know.

02:25:47 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 1:

Things are getting more serious for Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski. M. Rada is what the Internet calls her, which I hate that. But OK, whatever. A source telling me they are enjoying their time together. Pete's chill. He's understanding of the fact that she's a mom and she needs time with her son. So it's a really good situation for both of them. They also both like hanging out at home. So going strong. We'll see if there's a meeting of family over the holidays. That's always very, very telling. DaBaby is being sued over this song right here. He's being sued by a music producer with a stage named Juju Beats who says DaBaby stole his beat to make this song. So in this lawsuit, Juju claims he sent the beat in a digital file to DaBaby's team and that the song's producers accessed the file more than 40 times between late 2019 and early 2020. He could see it right there. Rockstar came out in April of 2020, topped the Billboard Hot 100. And this guy is like, well, wait a second. That's my beat. And I didn't get any credit for that. So we'll see where that one goes. And lastly, Diddy announcing the birth of his baby girl on Saturday. And the mom's identity was revealed yesterday. Her name is Dana Tran. She's 28. She works in the cybersecurity industry. She's not a celebrity. Really? She actually gave birth back in October. Diddy just waited two months to share any details about his new daughter. Now, meanwhile, Diddy's been dating young Miami since earlier this year. But they say that their romance isn't exclusive. He can date other people I thought he dated Sierra

02:27:24 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 2:

Or not Sierra What's her name The Oh god What the hell is her name That artist That

02:27:31 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 1:

Well he's also been Hooking up with an Influencer named Shantia Joseph

02:27:36 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

02:27:36 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 1:

So he's He's doing his thing

02:27:39 - 02:27:42 | Speaker 2:

You know there's that one song Why am I brain farting On that one song That's Sierra's song

02:27:42 - 02:27:43 | Speaker 1:

I know who you're thinking of

02:27:43 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 2:

Who was his girlfriend Before that That I thought That he was dating

02:27:47 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 1:

I know who you're thinking of And now I can't

02:27:50 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 2:

It's like a throwback Throwdown Artist, yes I would lose Hold on It starts with this Cassie Cassie Yeah, remember that song from Cassie?

02:28:00 - 02:28:00 | Speaker 1:

I think they dated for a long time

02:28:00 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 2:

Me and You or whatever it was

02:28:02 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah

02:28:02 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, this was it This was the song I thought he was dating her So But now he's dating He's dating a whole bunch of people

02:28:11 - 02:28:12 | Speaker 1:

It sounds like

02:28:12 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 2:

Wow Yeah I'll tell you If you're dating And you're looking that good At his age And I think I was wrong yesterday

02:28:17 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 1:

02:28:28 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 1:

For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on mojointhemorning.com.

02:28:33 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 4:

Yo, what's up? Shannon. It's your man, Diddy. Just wanted to say I had a great time last night. I was kind of mad that, you know, you ain't waking me up in the morning before you left. But thank God for Mojo in the Morning with my boy Mojo, Spike, and you too, Shannon. For waking me up and keeping me on time. See you when you get off work, baby.

02:28:55 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 1:

Baby.

02:28:55 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 2:

Here comes baby number eight. Wow.

02:28:58 - 02:29:03 | Speaker 1:

Don't look too good for you but me. Always getting me.

02:29:04 - 02:29:05 | Unknown:

That ain't what I need.

02:29:06 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 4:

Let's go! Mojo in the mornings, dirty on the 30s. And another world-famous phone scam is next.

02:29:12 - 02:29:41 | Speaker 2:

We got a senseless survey coming up here in just a little bit. uh kp our producer is so cute that uh she and her family are very tight you know she comes from a large family and as the holidays get closer together um you know they all get together and then your mom like makes you guys go do you guys do midnight mass or do you guys do like the normal sunday church or like the regular church the next day so we used to do midnight

02:29:41 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 3:

mass but it's been like a family tradition for the past like five or six years for my brother and I to perform with the choir or like the the cantata mass or I don't know how do we call it like just like the small little choir in the back um we do like some adult contemporary stuff and traditional things so she always comes Just a tad bit early And when you're talking Christmas Eve mass It's not like oh we're going to get there 20 minutes early It's like you get there an hour and a half early Wow To try and get a seat

02:30:11 - 02:30:17 | Speaker 2:

You go to the church service An hour and a half beforehand To get a seat

02:30:17 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 3:

So I'm typically there earlier for rehearsal And then my mom will get there still early Just to make sure Our seats are still saved She will not tolerate no seat save. This is a huge ordeal during Christmas time.

02:30:33 - 02:30:34 | Speaker 2:

How do you save seats?

02:30:34 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 3:

I don't even know. With your coats. We do coats and literally every scrap of anything. Coats on the pews. Put your keys down, take off your shirt, and set it down. Literally every article of clothing. Yes, I always layer up on Christmas Eve masks. I'm like, oh, shoot, I need to have a bunch of clothes so I can have that home. That's unbelievable. so she did something kind of funny a couple weeks ago at our church we had our a big christmas concert and they had printed out these reserved seat signs for the music ministry and it was just like printed out on the on the pews and after the cantata was over she put a bunch of them in her pocket and i knew what she was doing she was saving those for christmas eve mass she's gonna take those reserved slips that the church had printed for that one night event and she's gonna take them and reserve a bunch of pews for our family for Christmas Eve mass. This is supposed to be funny. She's me. I would do the same

02:31:30 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 1:

thing. I really appreciate that she does that. My family used to get so mad at me because I would make everybody go so early so we would get the good seat.

02:31:38 - 02:31:46 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. And then you always look at those people who come in so, so late. The mass has already started. That's me. And they sneak somehow to the front. They somehow get to squeeze in

02:31:46 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 2:

I'm the C&E. I'm the Christmas and Easter guy. and comes and takes your... What is the point of the better seats? Like front row to the Lord?

02:31:56 - 02:32:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she wants to see God front and center. I want to see everything. I sit front and center. When you're in the back, it's just difficult. It's just a different vibe in the back of the church. All the cool kids sit in the front.

02:32:07 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 2:

I did not. By the way, I learned so much about you. I knew that you were a regular go to church on Sunday, which I think is wonderful that you do that. I wish, honestly, that you would rub off on my children. Because I used to be more, you know, in line with that. And then, you know, I kind of got away from it over time. But I think it's wild. Did you know she sings? I did not know.

02:32:29 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 1:

So she posted a video the other day. You posted it, right? Yeah, I did. She posted a video the other day of her singing a solo at church. And I was like, wait a second. I did not know that KP could sing so beautifully. What were you singing?

02:32:41 - 02:33:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God, what was the song? It was a duet for our cantata. So it wasn't a mass. It was just a big Christmas concert. and it's funny that you say like that mojo you didn't know about this um because you had mentioned a couple weeks ago like we have so many people on our show nobody sings at church and i was going to say something but i don't know i feel like it's important that if god gives you gifts you use them and even though like i had absolutely no time like i was i was literally crawling on the ground to get to rehearsal a couple weeks ago um i don't know it's it it's uh i do this every couple like every couple weeks i've got one scheduled and i the worst i procrastinate so i get

02:33:17 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 2:

all my music memorized the day before and um i don't know i just they don't give the the people that are in the church choir their family members like special treatment as far as like seats and stuff well no not really they should give you guys like your own uh seats there literally should be

02:33:33 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 3:

a penrose row because we are we are there for everything i feel like yeah that's amazing yeah So a couple weeks ago when my mom did save those seats, I put the coats down and I noticed that there were a couple people sitting in that pew. And I'm like, oh, boy. Oh, boy. Mama K.P. is not going to like this. And I go up to the pew and I'm like, oh, hey, are you guys in this row? And they're like, oh, yeah. And so I'm not brave enough to tell them to go away. So I just went back and my mom found out and suddenly she had that row again.

02:34:06 - 02:34:11 | Speaker 2:

Will they start a fight? Is your mom, like, because I know your mom's got that Italian side of her.

02:34:11 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 3:

My mom is not someone you argue with, not because she's, like, angry or scary. She's just very, very persuasive. She'll make you feel like you're wrong.

02:34:20 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 2:

She's very intimidating. Yes. Yeah, she intimidates the hell out of me.

02:34:23 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so she's, like, a funny, she'll make it a joke. Like, I don't know how to describe it. You know how some people are just like, ha, ha, ha, yeah, and then you're going to get up and leave. and they're like, oh, yeah, I'm going to get up and leave. That's the type of person my mom is. That's a skill. It is. Oh, she's so good. Go, Mama KP. Yeah, if you think I'm intense, my mom is not someone you want to mess with. What is this song? This is Hallelujah. Oh, shoot. This version is terrible. Who is this?

02:34:55 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:34:56 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Turn it off.

02:34:57 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. It's what I found in the system.

02:35:00 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 1:

We should play the Shrek version Hallelujah Wait, there's a Shrek version of this? Well, I don't think it's actually Shrek What's the guy's name? Is it Andrea Bocelli? Or who's the guy that does the Andrew Bocelli? Josh Groban? Who are you thinking of? Josh Groban, right? Josh Groban Josh Groban, hallelujah No, that's what I'm saying Shannon, you just said that Josh Groban I thought you just thought of it, and I was like, no. No, I wouldn't. I feel like every kid sings this song for the talent show, and it's always the worst. I do love this song. That version creeps me out. Because you're in the choir. Will you sing Hallelujah for us? Come on. Will you do it? Come on. You can't brag about singing and then not sing. Hold on. I'm going to get it. What is it? Hallelujah is kind of intense. That is. It is. Can we do a different one? No, I like Hallelujah. It's one of my favorites. Just have her pick something to sing. No, it's one of my favorites. You're just lying because you wanted to sing that song. How about this? I'll sing Hallelujah. We can do Away in a Manger together. I'll do... No, wait, hold on. I can do Hallelujah, Josh Groban. Let me find it here. Textors are saying they walked down the aisle to the Shrek version. It must have been a fun wedding. Oh, hold on. That's the ad. That's the ad in the beginning of it. Oh, it sounded like an ad for the beginning of a different kind of video. Yeah, Megan. Would you imagine if that happened, especially while we were trying to play hallelujah and talking about church? I know I'm not the only person that thought that, though. I heard that drum and I was like, wrong website. Oh, man. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Stand by, stand by for hallelujah. If you're actually going to make me sing, I should probably go warm up or something. Hallelujah. We've all had to sing on this lovely radio program. What are you doing? I'm looking for it right now. Did you forget how to spell hallelujah? I did. L, L. All right, here we go. Here we go. Hold on. E-L. All right, I got it. U-J. I got it. A-H. Megan, did you have to Google that? No, I'm just smart. No, I had to Google that for sure. I can't spell the same in my life. Hold on. Stand by. Come on. Wow. This is the instrumental version. Oh, that's what you were looking for. Oh, but I need the words. Isn't it just hallelujah over and over? Yeah. No, it's. Here are the lyrics. The lyrics are. You're going to say them and then I have to repeat them? Yeah, you got to repeat them. Baby, I've been there before. This is not a church song. No. It's a good song. Hold on. I'll find it right here. Doesn't Jay Towers play any of this stuff on our Christmas station? Well, there's also the Rufus Wainwright version too. Who's this?

02:38:01 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 1:

Pentatonix. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. All right, here we go. Here, Shannon, look at the lyrics. Yeah. But you don't really care. Oh. We'll just do the hallelujah part as a show. You ready? Well, it goes like this. The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall. The major lift. The baffled king composing Hallelujah Ready, everybody. Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Next. Next verse. Here we go. Oh, when do we get to sit down? Come on. Try to find the lyrics. You saw her bailing on the roof.

02:39:02 - 02:39:03 | Unknown:

Her beauty.

02:39:04 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

You say you hated pentatonix. Huh? You say you hated pentatonix. I don't know them very much. She tied you to the kitchen chair. They're no manhands. They're no manhands. She broke your throne and she cut your hair. And from your lips, she drew the hallelujah. Hallelujah. I can't do that. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Wow. Oh. Go ahead. Come on. You made the background. Hallelujah. Here we go. It's picking up. It's picking up. All right, here we go. It's different lyrics from what's written Man, we can't win here Listen to how good KP's are

02:40:00 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 2:

That's KP singing. Isn't that a beautiful voice of hers? It's all you now, KP. It's all you.

02:40:17 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 5:

This is along everything. Ready? Come on. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia

02:40:57 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 2:

Just tell your mom to lay a couple more coats.

02:41:00 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 3:

I'll leave my sock out. I'll save your seat. Oh, come all ye faithful. Well, there goes 85% of the population.

02:41:08 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 2:

Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning.

02:41:18 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 2:

We're going to see how many questions we can get out this morning.

02:41:20 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 3:

You guys, you guys, you guys, great news. It's time for an official government survey. And when we mean official, we mean we're officially full of s**t.

02:41:29 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 2:

This country is going to s**t.

02:41:31 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 5:

You got it on Mojo.

02:41:32 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning Senseless Survey.

02:41:37 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 1:

Just one. Okay, and two questions left. On a scale of one to ten, how comfortable would you be letting Santa Claus view your internet browsing history?

02:42:08 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 4:

I mean, if what I know about Santa Claus is true, he should already know what my internet browsing history is.

02:42:16 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 1:

Very good answer. Getting a vibe for what people are thinking right now. Will you be paying $8 a month to get the blue checkmark and verified on Twitter?

02:42:25 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 4:

Definitely not. You said these are questions for the Census Bureau?

02:42:28 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Just wondering why you wouldn't do that.

02:42:32 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 4:

Why would I?

02:42:33 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, for equality, so everyone can be equal and have free speech if they pay $8 a month.

02:42:40 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 4:

Right. I'm pretty sure that's not how free speech works.

02:42:43 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 1:

Okay, we'll skip that question then. What term for gibberish do you prefer, gobbity-gook or mumbo-jumbo?

02:42:48 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 4:

This is definitely question four of three.

02:42:51 - 02:42:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, we didn't get an answer for the last one. I could skip both of those. We'll just wipe it fresh. And how about we go with, what do you think Stevie wonders?

02:43:00 - 02:43:02 | Speaker 4:

Probably what he's going to do with all his money.

02:43:02 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 1:

And do you think the washer and dryer are real friends, or are they just work friends? Who now? The washer and dryer in your laundry room.

02:43:11 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. We have a very symbiotic relationship.

02:43:15 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 1:

Perfect. And would you buy eggnog-flavored cough syrup?

02:43:18 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 4:

No, I like neither eggnog nor cough syrup.

02:43:22 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 1:

All right, I asked the right woman. Do you believe there should be a federal law put into place prohibiting parents from creating TikTok videos with their children?

02:43:30 - 02:43:30 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:43:31 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 1:

And do you think charcuterie is just Lunchables that went to Harvard?

02:43:35 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 4:

I made some charcuterie boards, and I think there's a little bit more effort and thought, hopefully, that goes into, and care, into making a charcuterie board than a mass-produced Lunchable.

02:43:47 - 02:43:52 | Speaker 1:

Wonderful. I love that that was the most detailed answer and the thing with which you spoke most passionately about.

02:43:53 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 4:

I love a Chuck Hitchley board.

02:43:54 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 1:

All right. Do you think it's fair that horses get farted on more than any other animal?

02:43:59 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 4:

All right. I think I'm going to be finished with this one. All right.

02:44:01 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 1:

Last question. If bed bugs live in bed, where do cockroaches live?

02:44:06 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Great. Mr. Bob Davolino.

02:44:10 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 2:

Mr. Davolino. Okay. More than 13 questions. 13 questions is exactly what Spike was able to get out from a person that sounds like a lot of fun to hang out with. I don't know.

What do you mean? I don't know what they meant. Whatever they meant. But you look good. Didn't it feel good to be everybody to kind of give a nice little love to everybody?

02:45:44 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Oh, I didn't know.

02:45:47 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 2:

You didn't even pay attention. The one time you should be reading our social media, you're not reading the social media.

02:45:54 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 5:

Megan, everybody loves you. They love your outfit too yeah was it that or did they love the cleavage that i was rocking because i was pretty proud of that no i'm pretty sure the puff sleeves were a hit oh yeah my bro my bra was uh working double duty that day those straps were praying so praying to lord jesus what is the what's the story with the evil lip gloss oh you guys i'm so effing mad about this it's not even funny I really felt special for the first time in my entire life because I was able to buy a PR box from Trixie Cosmetics, which let me tell you, it was the cutest thing I had ever gotten in my entire life. And I was obsessed with everything in it. But in it was my new favorite item. It's a lip oil that smelled like jelly filled donuts. I wore that nonstop since it arrived. And I was obsessed with it. I would literally just open the bottle and smell it and put it back into my pocket. Like I was obsessed with it and so obsessed to the point where I didn't realize it really never left my body. And this was a problem because I did my laundry, turns out, left it in my pocket. And because it's a lip oil, it's an oil-based product that broke open and it was a tinted lip oil that was red. So my entire load of laundry ruined. and the worst part was I was trying to be so nice and I had thrown some of my brother's workout clothes in there too all of his workout clothes now have a pink oily sheen to them. That's the worst is so welcome. No, no, no, no. What is the worst was I was doing a load because I was packing a bag so I was washing all of my favorite clothes and all of them are ruined. And they are ruined like you can't get that stuff out ever. I put less oil to it and i was like scrubbing it to try to get the oil stains no because even when you get the oil out the red residue is just behind ruined it didn't get that white outfit that you wore a jingle ball oh god no i can't wash that that's dry clean only i was gonna ask you if you got the oil

02:48:06 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 1:

i did this the other day with chapstick and ruined every shirt in the load is there a way to get that

02:48:11 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 3:

out? No. Lift oil will get oil out. Lift oil? I've never heard of that. Share. Like floor cleaner? I've never heard of it.

02:48:24 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea uses like Dawn dishwashing soap to get a lot of

02:48:27 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 5:

that stuff out. Did I just make a word up? I swear to God.

02:48:31 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 1:

I don't even feel like you're saying a word.

02:48:33 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 5:

Lift oil.

02:48:34 - 02:48:54 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if my dad says it. Dad. Dad. I don't know. Hang on. No, I think it's a real thing. He's listening. No, it's a real thing. That's a real thing. Less oil. Less oil. Yeah, I've just never heard of it before. L-E-S-T-O-I-L? Oh. Is that right? It's heavy duty cleaner. Yep. Hey, less oil will get out oil.

02:48:54 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 2:

Less oil. There it is.

02:48:56 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 4:

Hydrogen peroxide blood. I just know, like Mike, like you said, like Smith and Lou, they leave chapstick in their pockets all the time. And it's just like, or when Smith carried around that sunscreen stick, that went in there a few times. I mean, that stuff is so hard to get out. But when it's tinted as well, oof.

02:49:14 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 2:

So you left it in your pocket and it ruined everything?

02:49:20 - 02:49:39 | Speaker 5:

Me? Oh, yeah, everything. Because the crazy part is sometimes you get away with stuff in your pockets. And you're like, dodged a bullet on this one. And when I opened up the container and I just saw that the doe foot applicator tap was gone, I was like, and no getting out of this one.

02:49:39 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Well, that sucks.

02:49:42 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 5:

I know.

02:49:42 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 2:

Thank God you're the one that did it to yourself, though. Because can you imagine if it was, like, your brother that left something in it?

02:49:47 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, she did it to her brother, though. Yeah, I did. It was all of his workout clothes. Was he angry about it? Yes, because he's, like, a, I don't know, athlete. He runs, like, six to ten miles a day. So he has all, like, high...

02:50:00 - 02:50:05 | Speaker 2:

and workout clothes, and now I have to replace all those, too. This is becoming very expensive.

02:50:06 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 1:

He makes you replace them, or you're doing it because it's the right thing to do?

02:50:08 - 02:50:10 | Speaker 2:

I have to do it because it's the right thing to do.

02:50:11 - 02:50:13 | Speaker 1:

When is the last time you've done the right thing, though?

02:50:15 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 2:

Hold on.

02:50:17 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Angie.

02:50:19 - 02:50:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how are you?

02:50:20 - 02:50:21 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on?

02:50:22 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I just listened to you guys, and one time I had all my vitamins in my pocket, and I had a fish oil caplet and I forgot about him and I washed my load couldn't figure out why my load sounded like bad fish

02:50:34 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 1:

yeah that would suck do you put the things you know on your jeans how they have that little pocket up front in your pocket do you put your pills in there because I sometimes will put pills in there like some Motrin or Tylenol or something like that and I'll forget that they're there and then you go in your pocket and you're like holy crap this could have been bad

02:50:56 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That was probably the worst ever.

02:51:00 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 1:

I didn't realize fish oil actually will smell that bad. Bill, what's up?

02:51:05 - 02:51:13 | Speaker 3:

So, yeah, guys, you're talking about less oil, man. I'm just saying less oil, man, if you add a little lemon to it, it will take out pretty much any stain you can come up with.

02:51:13 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 1:

Dude, that is a great – I'm sorry. I can't get past how great your voice is. Oh, my God, it's amazing.

02:51:18 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I do a little radio here and there.

02:51:21 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 1:

Really? Do a less oil commercial. Yeah.

02:51:24 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 3:

Excuse me? West Oil, the best cleaner in town.

02:51:28 - 02:51:36 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Bill, wait, you're not that guy that was made popular in Ohio. Remember that guy that was the homeless guy?

02:51:36 - 02:51:37 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm not that guy.

02:51:38 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 1:

That guy. Listen to that voice.

02:51:41 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, I'm not that guy.

02:51:42 - 02:51:45 | Unknown:

But yeah, West Oil, man, that's my grandmother's thing.

02:51:45 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 3:

You know, I mean, it's...

02:51:46 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 1:

Anybody want him to say anything dirty or anything, like just for the fun of it?

02:51:50 - 02:51:52 | Speaker 3:

I could, but, you know...

02:51:52 - 02:51:57 | Speaker 1:

Can you talk about Megan's beautiful outfit she was wearing at our Jingle Ball? Talk about Megan.

02:51:58 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 3:

Now that you know, I'm watching you. Wow. Wow.

02:52:06 - 02:52:08 | Speaker 2:

I need to close the blinds tonight. Thank you.

02:52:10 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, dear, let's open the blinds and see what happens.

02:52:14 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 1:

Listen to this guy. Wow. Well, that voice should make you millions, buddy. That's a great voice.

02:52:21 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Well, we're working on it.

02:52:23 - 02:52:25 | Speaker 1:

Thanks for the call, Bill. Take care of yourself.

02:52:26 - 02:52:27 | Unknown:

All right, guys.

02:52:27 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 1:

All right. That voice. Holy cow.

02:52:28 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 2:

That's actually why I put him through. I liked it too much.

02:52:31 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

His voice? Yeah. That was good. All right. Virtual in the Morning's Top Trending Stories. All right. Top Trending Stories of the day, and then we get out of here. Let me pull up my trending news. Oh, we'll start off with this story here. I was surprised when I saw this. So McDonald's is the, of course, largest fast food establishment in the world. But did you guys know that while it's the largest fast food establishment, it ranks dead last in customer loyalty? Oh, really? According to Market Force, who asked 5,000 North American customers about their fast food habits and recent experiences. They found that McDonald's was the least likely to impress patrons, while Chick-fil-A was number one. They had number one customer loyalty. On the West Coast, In-N-Out is right behind Chick-fil-A. Other places that got really good reviews, Papa Murphy's. I've never even heard that. I've never heard of it either. Jersey Mike's. Love. Raising Cane's, Megan. They finished out the top five, respectively. They should. Chick-fil-A was also named Gen Z's favorite restaurant of the year. So they got the honors of that, too. Did you hear about this mom that caught her kids opening Christmas gifts early? Oh, no. So she discovered that they were opening up their Christmas gifts early, and she caught her four-year-old daughter sneaking around, actually going through and playing with some of the toys that she got. So she's been getting tips from people on what to do. One particular parent said, take all the gifts back and don't give them the gifts for Christmas. Another person said, just find a better hiding spot. She's actually going to use that. So she's trying to find better hiding spots to put the toys. And she said she's going higher instead of lower because the kids can't get up that high, especially because the kids are so young. So using opportunities to hide them on top of cabinets and things like that. And I always thought that the best hiding spot, if you're having a bunch of toys and gifts and stuff like that around the house, is to put them anywhere cleaning supplies are. Because your kids never will actually use anything with the cleaning supplies. Or put them in your, like, trunk of your car. Because when's the last time your kid...

02:55:00 - 02:55:01 | Speaker 2:

Kids have gone into the trunk of your car.

02:55:01 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 7:

See, you can see the trunk of my car from my backseat. Oh, that's true. Yeah.

02:55:07 - 02:55:40 | Speaker 2:

Dangerous driving times right now. This is the number one time that people are caught on the roads and getting themselves into trouble. And with now the higher risks because people are now taking cannabis and it's now legal in the state of Michigan, you got to be careful. More people are speeding at this time of the year, running red lights, and driving under the influence of both alcohol and cannabis. And the AAA says that this is the number one time where they start seeing more and more accidents, especially fatal. God, I can't speak with this. It's okay.

02:55:41 - 02:55:44 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. Wait, what was that? I like it. I'm sorry. Why I like it?

02:55:44 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 2:

Fatal, fatal accidents.

02:55:47 - 02:55:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:55:47 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 2:

And do you guys know what the three most likely days to die are?

02:55:53 - 02:55:55 | Speaker 7:

Oh, this is so morbid. I know this is morbid.

02:55:56 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 2:

Three most likely days to die.

02:55:58 - 02:56:03 | Speaker 7:

New Year's Day. Is that one? Yes, New Year's Day. The day after the time change?

02:56:03 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 2:

No, no, because it all deals with right now. Right now, this time.

02:56:08 - 02:56:14 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to say Christmas Eve, New Year's Day, and December 23rd.

02:56:14 - 02:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Nope. December 23rd. Go ahead. What were you going to guess?

02:56:17 - 02:56:17 | Speaker 7:

The longest day of the year.

02:56:18 - 02:56:22 | Speaker 2:

Nope. 20. What is that? The solstice? Or the shortest day of the year is what I meant.

02:56:22 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 5:

Where it's really dark out. Right, right, right.

02:56:24 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 2:

December the 25th, December the 26th, and January the 1st, the most dangerous days. Matter of fact, there are more heart attacks, according to the American Heart Association, on those days, and many times people in their cars driving at the time that those heart attacks take place. So you've got to be careful. I did not know that we have a shortage of something just in time for a big snowfall that's about to come our way. There's like a big snowstorm that is coming our way, And they're saying that there is a shortage right now of road salt. You know how they scatter road salt out there to kind of keep the streets from freezing over? Well, there is a Michigan State senator by the name of Roger Victory who said that he believes that it would be good for us to use beet juice to stop the roads from being slippery.

02:57:14 - 02:57:30 | Speaker 4:

In Michigan, we're one of the top states that produces sugar beets. It actually has higher temperature tolerance than what salt will have. Salt is very corrosive to steel. A lot of our concrete roads have the steel meshing systems in place.

02:57:31 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 2:

This guy, Jeff Herzeg, is the director of public works for one of our suburbs here. And he says that they've incorporated beet juice into their road treatments since 2009.

02:57:44 - 02:58:04 | Speaker 3:

In the long run, cost savings is probably the bottom line. The biggest benefit for us is a reduction in salt costs and efficiencies for our operators. So we see about a 35% savings in salt alone. That's so interesting. And the liquids also do make the operation more efficient, which cuts down on labor as well.

02:58:04 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys remember the office episode where they...

02:58:06 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 7:

Oh, Dwight. Didn't Dwight grow up on a beet farm or something?

02:58:09 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. We saw beets. 15 year on our beet farm. Nobody cares about your stupid beet farm. Beets are the worst. People love beets. Nobody likes beets. Everyone loves beets.

02:58:19 - 02:58:21 | Speaker 5:

Nobody likes beets, Dwight.

02:58:22 - 02:58:24 | Speaker 1:

I love beets. Yeah. Bears beets.

02:58:24 - 02:58:27 | Speaker 6:

I love beets. Yes. Am I the only one?

02:58:27 - 02:59:03 | Speaker 2:

I would think that it would be more messy for your car, though. Like, the only people that would love that you put beet juice on the roads would be people that work at the car, you know, washes, the dollar car washes. So, another thing that might get canceled. Everything's getting canceled these days. Sitting on Santa's lap, not everyone thinks that kids should sit on Santa's lap. Some child development experts believe that having your child sit on a weird stranger's lap is a violation of your child's rights and should actually stop.

02:59:03 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 6:

I mean, when you stop to think about it, it is strange, right?

02:59:08 - 02:59:12 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but you're there monitoring. It's not like all of a sudden it's happening completely by itself.

02:59:12 - 02:59:20 | Speaker 1:

But I noticed when we took the kids, he didn't even, in fact, he's sitting in a big giant chair and had the kids sit next to him, not even on his lap.

02:59:20 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 7:

I was going to say, now they do the stand next to.

02:59:22 - 02:59:23 | Speaker 1:

I didn't even notice that.

02:59:23 - 03:00:54 | Speaker 2:

Isn't it weird, though, to think, though, that you can't even get a picture taken with the guy? Or is it for him, his protection? Maybe he doesn't want people to come back and say that they touched him in a weird way or anything like that? All it would take is one. You know what I mean? All it would take was one. He'd lose his job forever. Yeah, interesting. This is a wild one for all those people that play video games. Every hour that a kid spends playing video games or watching YouTubes per day raises the risk of obsessive compulsive disorder by 13%. We've talked about... before the fact that you know there's so many hours a day that people will actually you know be on their video games and playing video games matter of fact i think that there was like a kid that i recently saw that was on playing video games for 22 of the 24 hours a day for like four straight days and they said that it ruined the kid's vision well kids spend an average of three hours and 54 minutes a day on their screens. And they're saying that the more screen time that these kids are getting, that the more they have the ability of getting obsessive compulsive disorder. And one thing that is coming back, and I think it's wonderful that it is because we should always honor this and in honor of it, I think that all the ladies on the show should go and get this because it would be fun. Tramp stamps are back. Oh my god.

03:00:55 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

03:00:57 - 03:01:01 | Speaker 2:

Lower back tattoos or tramp stamps are making a comeback.

03:01:01 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 3:

I hate the name. I think people stopped getting the tattoos because of what they were called.

03:01:07 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 2:

At this time around, the tattoos are seen as more empowering than embarrassing. Matter of fact, a TikTok influencer just recently did a TikTok with more than 3.8 million views, posting it saying that tramp stamps or lower back tattoos actually have become more and more popular by tattoo artists, and that is one of the bigger spots that people are looking to get tattoos this holiday season. Nothing says the holidays more than a tramp stamp.

03:01:39 - 03:01:42 | Speaker 4:

Megan, I think you're right, though. If they just changed the name. It's just the name.

03:01:42 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 3:

I bet more people would be apt to get it there. I think it's so interesting that all these girl trend tattoos get stupid names, but never guy trend tattoos. What's a guy trend

03:01:52 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 2:

tattoo? Name ones for me.

03:01:54 - 03:02:06 | Speaker 3:

Getting a lion. Getting a compass. Barbed wire. Getting an hourglass. Some sort of ship. Tell me I'm wrong. But they don't get it

03:02:06 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 2:

on their lower back like that. And I think they became, weren't they called tramp stamps? Because didn't they used to say that that was like a number one spot where strippers would get tattoos?

03:02:16 - 03:02:20 | Speaker 4:

Are you judging women? I don't know. how it got the name.

03:02:20 - 03:02:34 | Speaker 2:

Because I have a tramp stamp, and I joined the process. It's actually a ship. And a barbed wire all in one. It's a lion. Have a great day, guys. We're back tomorrow for more Mojo in the Morning. See ya. 20 plus years of idiocy, and still going
