00:03:49 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 6:

Let's go! This is Santa on Mojo in the Morning. May your meds make you believe it's a Merry Christmas this year.

00:04:00 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 3:

There you go. Yesterday, I had kind of an interesting one. I wanted to go and do a little holiday shopping, a little Christmas shopping.

00:04:08 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 5:

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas.

00:04:09 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 3:

And I had a moment happen to me that I don't know if any of you guys have ever had. So the malls, by the way, are crowded. I can't believe how crowded they are.

00:04:19 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 2:

Insane.

00:04:20 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

And it feels like, honestly, that's what it should be, right? It should be Christmas. We should be out in the malls. Well, I stopped off in the Detroit area. It's a place called the Somerset Collection. It ain't a mall. It's a collection. It's a fancy place. They've got every store probably known to man in there. And if they don't, they'll probably have it opening soon. And I don't know if you guys ever get faced with this, but I have my parking spot when I go to the mall. I know exactly where I'm going to park if I'm going to go to either the south side or the north side of the mall. If I go to the north side of the mall, I park over by the Nordstrom's entrance there.

00:05:00 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 1:

It's lower underneath whatever the parking deck or whatever, yeah. The parking deck right out in front of where the men's shoe department is. That's my spot. And then on the other side, on the south side, I have an area that I like to park in that is kind of towards what is, I don't even know what the department store is. It's one of the fancy ones, either Sacks or Neiman's or whatever it is.

00:05:23 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 2:

Can I be honest?

00:05:23 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:05:24 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 2:

I'm just really impressed. You know which side is the north side versus the south side.

00:05:27 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, believe me. You know, I don't know why I know that. because somebody asked me one time what side we're going to meet on, and I said the rich people side because we were going over to P.F. Chang's, and they go, that's the south side. And I'm like, oh. I call it the rich people side because you go there, and it's like all those stores are just very rich people. And the other side, honestly, is pretty rich people too, but it's not as rich as the other side. They got stores that maybe some of them might be affordable, and they have a food court, And I like the food court there. Y'all know y'all done bought stuff from that side. Stop playing. Oh, listen. I'm going to tell you something. I bought you something from that side.

00:06:07 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hey.

00:06:07 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

Still ain't seen it. You want to see it?

00:06:09 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 2:

You know, I-

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 1:

I'll show it to you now.

00:06:11 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

I have bought one thing from the rich side. One thing. And it was funny because as I was walking through to get to that store, which is going to surprise you, every single employee from the high-end stores walked to the front door and stood there with their arms crossed like, do not walk into our store.

00:06:26 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah. Well, they have ropes out in front, too. They got the ropes to keep you out.

00:06:30 - 00:06:43 | Speaker 2:

Was that Lululemon that you went to? No, I was going to Surla Top. Oh, yeah. I was getting a pan. Kitchen stuff. Yeah, it's a... That is a good spot. I forget that that's there. One kitchen store in the middle of, like, Gucci, Fendi, Prada. I was like, and I'm going to get a pan.

00:06:44 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

During COVID, we all got our COVID money, man. I was at Gucci spending that thing like crazy. I was like, give me that bitch. I'm going for it. I got the G-Belt, baby. The G-Belt. The G-Belt.

00:06:56 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 3:

You do not own a G-belt.

00:06:58 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I got one. You do not. You never see it because my belly goes right over the top of it.

00:07:02 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 2:

I wasn't aware. In the nicest way. Please take it back. Yeah.

00:07:06 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 1:

Let me get to my story here because I'm going to tell you guys. I think that you guys can relate to this, and if you can't, you'll have to tell me. Whenever I go to the mall, I cannot go to the mall and park anywhere else. I mean, I've even gone before where I've driven all the way from my house, which I live like 30 minutes or 35 minutes away from this mall. I'll drive all the way there. And if my parking spot's not open or there's nothing in that area, I go right back home. I don't. You do not. I do. I won't park anywhere else. I will not park, by the way, in the parking decks. I don't like the parking decks.

00:07:40 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

Same. It really pisses me off that they even exist. I don't know why they exist. It's so dumb. But I'm the kind of person where I won't even park where it's convenient for the store that I'm going to. I park in the same place every time. Oh, yeah. You have to cross the mall.

00:07:52 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 1:

Because you know why? Because we're creatures of habit. Yeah. And we know exactly where our spot is. And we know exactly. And I always feel like I know it's going to be open. Well, yesterday when I went, it wasn't open. And I was so thrown by this. And I'm like, all right, I'm going from side to side. Somebody's got to be leaving here sometime soon. And then I finally, I'm like, all right, screw this. I'll come back on another time. Anybody ever do this? And it's not so much the mall. It could be anywhere. Do you do this at work? Do you do this at church on Sundays?

00:08:22 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to know where I do it? So I am not usually a creature of habit when it comes to the mall or Target or anything like that. I am very superstitious about where I park when I go see Dr. Werner, the show gynecologist, or Kelly Sesse, my hairstylist at One Society for two reasons. And the Dr. Werner thing I have done since I got pregnant with Lucy, I've parked always in the same spot. Now, he threw me for a loop last year because he moved buildings. He moved, yeah. So I have a new spot now. But it's like I am so scared that something – I will get bad news if I don't park in this one specific row. And if there's not a parking spot there, I can't. Like I will go to the very, very end and kind of make my own parking spot. And I'm the same way when I go get my hair cut. I feel like I'm going to get a bad haircut if I don't park in this one specific area. It's so dumb.

00:09:16 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

I cannot deal with it. I don't like it. I don't like going somewhere else. I feel like it changes my day here at the radio station. I still haven't found what our parking spot is. I'm trying to figure it out. So far, I've taken second spot over in our parking lot. Yeah, you pissed me off.

00:09:30 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

You took my spot.

00:09:31 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Wait, was that yours?

00:09:32 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I parked in the same spot for weeks because none of you wanted to park in that lot, and I was like, y'all be dumbasses.

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

I'll give it back to you if you want. You can have it back.

00:09:40 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then it's always at Franklin Park Mall, the Forever 21. It does not matter if I'm going to Macy's. I'm going to park at the Forever 21 and walk through the Forever 21 entrance.

00:09:48 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 1:

See, mine is always right in front of the Black Rock there.

00:09:50 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Ooh, yeah, that's right next to it, yeah.

00:09:53 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Michelle? How you doing? By the way, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Hi, Michelle, how you doing? oh do i not have michelle here hold on a second here michelle what is going on here why am i not able to uh to hear her well the good news is nobody can hear her not just you so nobody can hear us no i'm not either what am i doing am i doing something wrong with this you keep putting her on a hold like you're giving her back to me no i understand that but i'm looking at the phone line thing it's not i don't hear the click thing at all hold on let me see if this works michelle are you there? I can't hear her. There's something wrong with this. What is going on? Is our phone line system

00:10:36 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 2:

broken? Is that little knob dial thingy, right? Our engineer off a holiday vacation, so we ain't got nobody here. Are you serious?

00:10:44 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 4:

Which phone program? Are you in Mojo or are you in

00:10:48 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 1:

Chinon? I am in. Hold on. Oh, you know what it is? Hold on a second. No, no, no. I got it. I got it. I got it. Hold on a second. Was that right? I think, no. I hung up on her? No, I think I have it on Detroit. This is the dumbest effing thing I've ever seen in my life. Like, why is it? First off, who uses the studio after we're done? This is my studio. I fought for this damn studio. I hate when people have to change my stuff out.

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 3:

You have to change it or other people can't use other studios.

00:11:19 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 1:

Well, that's a dumb thing. All right, here we go. Hey, Michelle, what's going on?

00:11:23 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, Mojo. Yay! Good morning.

00:11:26 - 00:11:27 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Michelle?

00:11:28 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 3:

Nothing. We were talking about going to the mall. Yeah. I went to Great Lakes yesterday. Me and my friend, we went around 1130. We left around three. It was dead. Dead, dead, dead. Like, no one was there. We were like, where the heck is everyone? There was parking galore. You could park anywhere. No lines. It was amazing. That's awesome. So if you want to go shopping, go between those hours.

00:11:50 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 1:

Well, that is a dream come true, by the way, because I've been to Great Lakes before where I felt like I had to park in Pontiac, and it's in the malls in Auburn Hills, Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills. That's a crazy one. I get scared for some reason in that mall, and the reason why, there's two reasons. One, it's a scary mall, but the other one is, I hate that it's one of those circular malls where you have to walk around the entire mall in order to get to anything, and I don't like carpeting. Why is it they have carpeting on their floors?

00:12:19 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but they have all the good outlets. Short cuts, so it's to cut through Forever 21 to get to the other side.

00:12:23 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 1:

I've done that before, but I feel like when I'm walking through, I have to say hi to everybody. Hi, everybody. Hi. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me. What's up, Amy? How you doing?

00:12:32 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 5:

Hi. Good morning. How are you guys?

00:12:34 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's happening?

00:12:36 - 00:12:56 | Speaker 5:

The non-assigned but assigned parking spaces at your place of employment will make the biggest difference of how your day goes. If you don't get your assigned spot, you're thrown off for the rest of the day. Same as a sign about a not-assigned seating. Walk in and somebody's sitting in your seat. Get up. You know that's my seat.

00:12:56 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 1:

No, that's a very interesting point. So when you say a sign, not a sign, you're saying that it's just your normal spot that you park in, not that they have your name on the thing, right?

00:13:05 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 5:

Exactly, 100%. You have your flow. That's why you get there early, so you have your spot.

00:13:12 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's an unspoken rule. I didn't realize I took Megan's spot. I'm going to have to move my spot over one.

00:13:17 - 00:13:20 | Speaker 2:

It really hurt my feelings. I was clearly distraught about it.

00:13:20 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 1:

I'm putting your name on that sign that says, I heard parking all night.

00:13:23 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. This happened one time in church, man. My grandma, she the back row dawn. My grandma church, she's, like, the back row is, like, our row. That's the family row. We sat so close to somebody who sat in her row one time. It was so uncomfortable. Did she say something? No, she just sat, like, literally under their armpit. I do have a spot at church. I like to sit right in the front row.

00:13:44 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 1:

And the kid hated it. Oh, she's a goodie, goodie. I hate it. I love it. What's up? How are you doing, Jody? How are you?

00:13:52 - 00:13:54 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you guys?

00:13:54 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on?

00:13:56 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 4:

So I hit our first house. We lived in. We had roommates. And I came home one day, and someone was parked in my spot. And I totally had a meltdown and parked around the corner and came home crying. And my boyfriend, who's now my husband, he had no idea what was going on. I should note that I'm diabetic and my blood sugar was low. But he thought I had gotten carjacked. We couldn't tell him where my car was. It was a total mess.

00:14:31 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man. You just needed a Snickers.

00:14:34 - 00:14:34 | Speaker 4:

He was just freaking out.

00:14:35 - 00:14:39 | Speaker 1:

What was your blood sugar like dealing with all that pain of them parking in your spot?

00:14:39 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 4:

it was i was just a disaster like i said like it's just irrational like i was like seriously someone was parked in my spot and i like literally parked around the corner it was

00:14:51 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 1:

ridiculous i get it no i'm telling you it's the whole idea that it throws you off uh rick what's happening.

00:15:00 - 00:15:04 | Speaker 8:

Mojo, when are you going to learn how to operate a switchboard? I'm trying.

00:15:05 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 2:

It's a completely new system. It's like literally head to toe brand new.

00:15:12 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 8:

Seriously, you're in a brand new studio. It's probably state of the art. And you've been in radio how many years?

00:15:19 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 4:

I've been in radio since I was 18 and I'm 54 years old. A long time.

00:15:24 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 3:

What do you do for a living?

00:15:26 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 4:

I'm a truck driver.

00:15:28 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay, imagine being a truck driver for 25 years, Mojo, 25 years, and then all of a sudden they put you in a brand new car, right? And instead of having pedals, you have buttons, and instead of having a gear shifter, you have to do the microwave. I don't know. Great analogies. Like, they switched up how he operates every... No, no, no. The phones are different. All of the drops are different. The actual computer system we operate off of is different. Are you professional or not? Give this man a break.

00:15:56 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, Megan. Thank you. You know what? That makes me feel good. See that? That makes me feel good.

00:16:01 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 8:

You know, I always wanted to call in and get Megan excited, and it worked. I'm telling you.

00:16:07 - 00:16:08 | Speaker 4:

We win.

00:16:08 - 00:16:08 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:16:08 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 4:

You better behave yourself. She's got me on this one.

00:16:12 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 7:

Thanks for having Mojo's back there, Megan. You're the best. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:16:17 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 4:

All right. Don't mess with me, Rick. All right, guys. I'll talk to you. See ya.

00:16:21 - 00:16:27 | Speaker 7:

Love you, Rick. It's Mojo in the Morning's Back in the Day. Let's go! Back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:16:27 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're giving away tickets to the FM 98 WJLB Detroit Big Show. The show which is going to star Sexy Red, Glorilla, Tee Grizzly, and a whole bunch more. People that should be very fun to be performing at Little Caesars Arena. Tickets are still available right now. They told me to tell you that because they've got a bunch of tickets. They've got to try to sell that thing. This was the year that the Detroit Pistons won their second championship in franchise history.

00:17:04 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 1:

We're going back. They're dancing at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Michigan. 21,500 celebrating the Detroit Pistons back-to-back NBA champions.

00:17:15 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 4:

Wow, Kev, I'm interested in this one. Home Alone was the big movie.

00:17:20 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to give you to the count of ten to get your ugly, yellow, no-good keister off my property

00:17:26 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 6:

before I pump your guts full of lead. All right, Johnny, I'm sorry. I'm going. One, two, ten.

00:17:33 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 4:

I love this scene. Scaring those guys off.

00:17:37 - 00:17:39 | Speaker 6:

Keep the change, you filthy animal.

00:17:39 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 4:

And the big song. Technotronic, Pump Up the Jam. Oh, my God. Remember this one? This was on a jock jam CD, I think.

00:17:49 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 3:

I think that's how I know it.

00:17:53 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 4:

We're going way back. I guarantee you probably weren't even alive when this happened. What year was it?

00:17:59 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 7:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548.

00:18:32 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going back in time right now for the Back in the Day, and this was the year that everybody was excited over the Pistons going back-to-back with an NBA championship.

00:18:43 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 1:

They're dancing at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Michigan. to 21,500, celebrating the Detroit Pistons back-to-back NBA champions.

00:18:54 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Wow, I can't believe Home Alone was this long ago, but Home Alone was the big movie.

00:18:58 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to give you to the count of 10 to get your ugly, yellow, no-good keister off my property

00:19:04 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 6:

before I pump your guts full of lead. All right, Johnny, I'm sorry.

00:19:09 - 00:19:13 | Speaker 4:

You know when I realize how old this movie is is when I see current pictures of Macaulay Culkin.

00:19:14 - 00:19:19 | Speaker 1:

00:21:10 - 00:21:21 | Speaker 4:

God, I heard about this on my way home from the radio station yesterday, this school suiting that happened at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin. The latest on what we know about it.

00:21:21 - 00:21:33 | Speaker 1:

At 10.57 a.m., a second-grade student called 911 to report a shooting had occurred at school. We'll let that soak in for a minute.

00:21:33 - 00:21:45 | Speaker 4:

Second grade. Now, the female school shooter. A female? 15 years old. Yes, opened fire in a mixed-grade study hall. She was named by officials last night.

00:21:45 - 00:22:02 | Speaker 1:

The shooter has now been identified as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who went by the name Samantha. She was a student at the school, and evidence suggests she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

00:22:03 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

She killed a teacher, another student, and herself, and there are two people still fighting for their lives at the hospital after the shooting. Her alleged manifesto has been going around on social media. They please say they haven't been able to verify if it's authentic. And then there's also a photograph of her also not verified, but she's wearing the same shirt, the same black T-shirt. It has some sort of graphic on it that Columbine shooter that the Columbine shooter also wore at one time.

00:22:31 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 3:

I just pulled up the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. This is the three hundred and twenty third school shooting of twenty twenty four.

00:22:38 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 2:

Damn.

00:22:39 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 3:

And it was a second grader that called 911. That was the clip I just played. That's insanity. Second grader.

00:22:46 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Jesus. How many school shootings did you say this year? 323. Bro, that's almost one a day. It's insanity. That's crazy. Yeah. We got to do something about these gun laws, bro. Something got to change. I agree. That's way too many. I agree. One is too many, but almost because 300?

00:23:04 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 3:

If there's stuff on this girl's social media, where are the parents at when they see this? How do the parents not see any of this social media stuff? We just had the crumbly situation.

00:23:11 - 00:23:14 | Speaker 4:

I wonder what'll happen with her parents. Not even just the parents. Anybody.

00:23:14 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 3:

This is crazy.

00:23:15 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 4:

In Other Dirty Today, pregnant Megan Fox is really, really upset with her ex, Machine Gun Kelly's request to be in the delivery room when their child is born. Friends say she believes he doesn't deserve to be in the room after she found out that he had cheated on her. If you haven't heard, they split over Thanksgiving weekend, which they spent together with family in Vail, Colorado, after she went through his phone, found some shady stuff. But sources telling me that Megan not only has zero plans to allow MGK to be present at the birth, but also does not intend on giving their baby his last name.

00:23:52 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 3:

What are the rights of a dad when it comes to that?

00:23:55 - 00:23:57 | Speaker 4:

That's a really great question. I don't know.

00:23:58 - 00:23:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:23:59 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 4:

Medical room though, right?

00:24:01 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 3:

But if you are, I mean, I guess they'll have to be able to prove that they're biological father of the baby. But I would think that the patient probably has the ultimate say-so on that one so they can keep you out of that.

00:24:12 - 00:24:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know. Especially if a woman's ever been attacked and then gotten pregnant, like, to keep that person out of the room. Yeah. They wouldn't have rights, right? Yeah. I would hope.

00:24:20 - 00:24:21 | Speaker 2:

It's our situation.

00:24:21 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Kim Kardashian helped get a New Jersey woman named Dawn Jackson released from prison after she served 25 years for fatally stabbing a man that she claims was sexually abusing her. Kim has been advocating for Dawn's release since 2018 when Dawn started sending some really heartfelt letters to Kim. So the story with her is that she stabbed her, fatally stabbed her step-grandfather back in 1999. And she claims her public defender told her to plead guilty to her first-degree murder charge, even though she claimed she had been sexually abused by this man And since she was like a little, little girl, her sexual abuse testimony was now.

00:25:00 - 00:26:04 | Speaker 3:

never presented in court, but it was Dawn's letters to Kim that convinced her to get involved in her case. And now the governor of New Jersey is commuting her 30 year sentence, freeing her five years early. And guess what? Apparently it is possible to get chlamydia from touching equipment at the gym. Oh boy. There's a guy on TikTok who claims he contracted the infection at the gym after wiping his eye with a towel that was placed on a seat and tests revealed that yeah in fact it was chlamydia and this guy was like well kind of embarrassing but i haven't been sexually active so after chatting with his doctor they realized that it was the gym his doctor basically told him chances are your wife this guy's not married but chances are somebody sweat on the seat that you put your gym towel on you wiped your face with it it made your eye all pink and infected and why why it's rare it's very very rare but it can happen your eye very rare let me

00:26:04 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 2:

say let me say that to all our cheaters listening to war of the roses that's your excuse again i say

00:26:09 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 3:

Three, two, one. I don't think I have that one.

00:29:41 - 00:29:56 | Speaker 2:

And question number five. Why are the pretty ones always so dumb? No, no, not yet. Question number five. Finish the lyric to this classic holiday song, White Christmas. I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

00:30:00 - 00:30:04 | Speaker 3:

00:31:12 - 00:31:13 | Speaker 2:

00:31:49 - 00:31:50 | Speaker 3:

Four to two final score.

00:31:51 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 1:

00:32:54 - 00:33:07 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show.

00:33:07 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Mornings live. A lot of people thinking that they could beat Dallas. A lot of people said that they got five out of five on that last one. So maybe we get one of those guys, Lydia, for tomorrow and offer up the challenge.

00:33:24 - 00:33:27 | Speaker 2:

Everybody think they could beat the champs and they get in that ring. Yeah.

00:33:28 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 1:

Well, we all thought that the Lions were going to be Super Bowl champions. Now, after seeing yesterday's injury report, I think losing Nate is the worst thing that could possibly happen to us.

00:33:42 - 00:33:44 | Speaker 2:

I mean, nobody beat us but the injuries.

00:33:45 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 1:

I will tell you that this scares me. This now scares me. And then I watched that Monday Night Football game last night and saw that Minnesota rolled over the Chicago Bears, which the Chicago Bears almost gave us a tough game. And the Bears have been horrible. I can't believe it. We go to Chicago to play them next. I don't know if the cold weather will affect things. No, we should beat them. I'm not worried.

00:34:06 - 00:34:16 | Speaker 3:

Divisional games are always up in the air, though. There were teams that, like, or years that the Lions won three games and two of them were against Green Bay. You know what I mean? And Green Bay was going to the playoff.

00:34:16 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 1:

I just think that when you play a team like Buffalo and you play them like you did, but then you lose the people that you lost. We lost the cornerstone of our defense this weekend. We lost the cornerstone of our offense along with, obviously, Jared Goff. But losing, honestly, losing Nate screws Jameer because it makes it now even tougher. It puts a lot on him. I hope we don't have any injuries with him. I will tell you this. We all need to pray. We need to pray that they find some practice squad guy that just turns out to be a stud. And then some of these other guys that got injured at the beginning of the year can come back and play. We have tickets. We're giving away tickets to. the game the the minnesota game which is not this weekend i think what is it is it january the fourth or fifth or something because we're going to be off for the holiday so we're going to have a couple of days off and we're going to run back the best of 2024 so we're going to give them away this week on the show and we're giving them away on friday i don't care what the coin says and what Brian, that listener Brian says. Where is Brian, by the way? Yes.

00:35:28 - 00:35:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to talk to him. I don't want to talk to him. I have a hard enough time talking to you guys. Okay.

00:35:35 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 1:

Did Brian go to hiding or something yesterday or were you trying to protect him, Lydia, by not having him on the show with us? Brian is more than welcome on the show whenever he is. Yeah. No, he's not. We should have had him on yesterday. So we all could said, what the hell are you thinking? I do think that we should have let, you know, we always say Megan's the smartest one on the show. She said don't give him away. I've never said that. We didn't listen.

00:36:01 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, you should listen to him because I'm right. And if we didn't do it, we would have won the game. And I warned you.

00:36:09 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:36:10 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 3:

I warned you. I will say, remember I said that I had that cursed lion sweatshirt? Yeah. Somebody said they bought it for their daughter and she wore it to the game. and they said, take a backup shirt just in case I heard it was cursed. And she forgot to take a backup shirt more at the whole game. And I said, the sweatshirt is cursed, and we gave away tickets too soon. Did you wear the underwear, Mojo?

00:36:29 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 1:

Listen, I wore them, but this is the problem.

00:36:31 - 00:36:32 | Speaker 3:

Did you wash them?

00:36:32 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 1:

No, I wore a Honolulu blue Lions shirt that said Detroit Lions on it that I found at the bottom of my freaking drawer. And I wore that shirt last year, I realized, after the game was over with, during the 49ers game that we lost. So I'm responsible just as much as Brian's responsible.

00:36:51 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 2:

Was nobody paying attention? No. We have rules.

00:36:55 - 00:36:56 | Speaker 1:

I know.

00:36:56 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 2:

We don't wash things. We wear what we wear when they win. We sit in the same place on the couch. What are we doing? We eat the same food. I'm extremely superstitious.

00:37:05 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 1:

I really am. I'm extremely superstitious on this one.

00:37:07 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 3:

I actually think that's the dumbest thing in any other situation other than watching football. Then all superstitions are on the table.

00:37:16 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 1:

I just, I feel so awful about this. But all right, we'll talk more about that. And we'll give you a chance to win those Lions tickets this week here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Shannon has a little Christmas hoarding obsession. And what is that, Shannon?

00:37:32 - 00:38:01 | Speaker 4:

I just want to feel normal. So if you are the same way, please call and let me know. um i i think i have a little bit of my dad tim murphy in me because he's this way and i i blame him for this because he was the one that got me started and taught me this where every year on christmas morning we my sisters and i would open our gifts and he would have a separate pile for just the bows because you had to save the bows so that you could reuse them a pile next

00:38:01 - 00:38:06 | Speaker 1:

year meaning after you open up you have to put your bow so as you're opening the gifts you hand

00:38:06 - 00:38:08 | Speaker 4:

over the boat and you would hand over the boat to my dad.

00:38:08 - 00:38:10 | Speaker 1:

You can't just like throw it in the pile with all

00:38:10 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 4:

the wrapping paper? No, because then it could accidentally get thrown away in one of those big black trash bags, right? You had to hand it to dad or my stepmom, Chris, and she and they would, you know, put it in a bin or whatever for next year. I am the same way. I reuse bows all the time. Ribbon if the gift comes beautifully wrapped with ribbon. No. Gift bags, tissue paper. Shannon. Really? If the gift wrap is good and I open it like a certain way i will fold it and use it again but i think i realized i have hit a new low when i was unpacking i was i'm just finishing one of the trees in my house because i 10 000 trees that we bought this year and i bought these ornaments from target and they're these beautiful big velvet ornaments and they come in a container where they're um like it's one big box but they're all individually in their own little slot. And each slot has this crinkle paper that they're nestled in. So I'm unpacking them. I'm putting them on the tree. And I was filling Ziploc bags with this crinkle paper because I know that I will use it at the bottom of a gift basket or something this year to give as a gift. And Wes was like, what in the actual F are you doing? We could go to Michael's and get this for 99 cents, but you're sitting here re-bagging it into ziploc bags to put away so that we can use it for something else it's so cheap but i'm like but then i'm just gonna throw this away and i could use it i i knew low with

00:39:39 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 1:

that one i will reuse like gift bags and i've made the mistake of not realizing that the person who gave us the gift bag with the gift still had their card attached to it yeah like the little swing tag yeah like like wine bags you guys ever get wine in a bag all the time i've used i was just

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

about to say the only gift bag

00:40:00 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 6:

you're allowed to reuse as a wine bag because how often are you actually going out to buy one of those but when you need a last minute gift you know that you could just grab something out of the cabinet you throw away good gift bags all the time because i'm i don't um collect trash

00:40:13 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 4:

it's not trash though it is perfectly reusable no seriously this is gonna make me hot bring them

00:40:19 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 6:

here i have tissue paper in my car you can have i was going to throw it away today but i will give it to you isn't it okay you're the trash man i swear my dad i get gift bags from him that are

00:40:33 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 3:

from like 1989 really yeah i mean they have made the rounds don't you don't you think though that

00:40:39 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 2:

when you were a little kid you looked at your dad and you're like man my dad must not make any money

00:40:43 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 3:

or something like that he's doing all this stuff he's just super frugal my machinist granny was

00:40:47 - 00:40:51 | Speaker 2:

the same way but did you not look at that though and say i'll never be like that and now you're You like that? No. Really?

00:40:52 - 00:41:00 | Speaker 3:

No. I see it as being so wasteful to have bows and bags and stuff and to open it, use it one time and throw it away.

00:41:00 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 2:

So when your kids open up their Christmas wrapping-

00:41:03 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 3:

They make a bow pile.

00:41:05 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 2:

But do you ever tell them to open it more gently so that they don't ruin anything?

00:41:09 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 3:

I'm not crazy about it with the kids.

00:41:11 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 2:

No?

00:41:11 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 3:

Not with the wrapping, but bows I am and gift bags I am.

00:41:14 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 2:

What about your husband? Will you make your husband do that? He knows. What if he grabs the bows and starts throwing them away?

00:41:20 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

He is one that just wants everything gone and in the garbage, so I have to go behind his back and around him to get the stuff.

00:41:28 - 00:41:32 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Oh, no, go ahead. Ask your question, and then I'm going to grab Jess.

00:41:32 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 6:

Did you ever just, like, learn that you're trash, though? Because I'm realizing, why don't I collect all this? Like, why don't I care? Well, I was raised by a single father who wrapped all of our gifts in the comic section of the newspaper. My dad did that. My dad did that. We didn't have Bose. We had newspaper. We did that, too. Or the Victoria's Secret catalog, just to make me uncomfortable.

00:41:48 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Jess?

00:41:50 - 00:41:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

00:41:51 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:41:52 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 1:

Totally guilty. I do the exact same thing. Yep.

00:41:56 - 00:42:02 | Speaker 2:

Just like Shannon, you re-save bows? Do you ever re-save wrapping paper if it looks like it hasn't been cut into?

00:42:03 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 1:

If it still looks nice, yeah. See?

00:42:05 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right.

00:42:06 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 1:

There's nothing wrong with that.

00:42:07 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 3:

Easter grass from Easter baskets? Every year.

00:42:10 - 00:42:24 | Speaker 6:

Easter grass. Every year. I think this is my problem. It's not the bows. It's not necessarily like the thick velvet ribbon with the wire in it. I get that. It's the Easter grass. It's the recycled paper for stuffing. That's the stuff.

00:42:24 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Katie? How you doing?

00:42:26 - 00:42:33 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. So I heard Megan say, have you ever just realized you're trash? And in that moment, I did.

00:42:36 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 1:

I save the bows, but I also have a tag bag. Yes. No. Where I keep the tags. Oh, yeah. So I do that too. That's weak trash behavior.

00:42:48 - 00:43:02 | Speaker 2:

next year yeah yeah that's funny a tag bag is what you call it i love that what's up jenna how you doing hi good how are you good we're talking about how shannon is like a 90 year old lady here

00:43:02 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 4:

what's happening no she's not because bowls and bags are expensive and i and i i know which one of my family members and friends throw them out so i will get them the cheap dollar store ones and And I will get the nice bags for the people that I know that keep them. The home goods and paper stores bags only go to people who appreciate them.

00:43:27 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 2:

What is the difference in price between the cheap ones and the more expensive ones?

00:43:31 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 4:

The dollar store solid colored crappy bags compared to the really cute $5, $6 bags that you literally just buy before you pull up to the birthday party. and then you watch them open it and then crumble it up and put it in the trash when you literally haven't even had it for 20 minutes.

00:43:51 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That's wild. Samantha, what's up? How you doing?

00:43:56 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 5:

Good. How are you?

00:43:57 - 00:43:58 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

00:43:58 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 5:

My grandma used to do the same thing. She would find where the presents were taped and slice it with her nail, and then she would take the wrapping paper and slice it up and reuse it.

00:44:10 - 00:44:12 | Speaker 2:

That is crazy. That is so good.

00:44:12 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 5:

I got the same birthday card four years in a row because they were on clearance one year, so she got them off.

00:44:18 - 00:44:25 | Speaker 2:

That's incredible. I love that. By the way, Anisha, what's happened, Anisha? Speaking of cards, what do you do?

00:44:26 - 00:44:43 | Speaker 1:

We re-gift our cards, like birthday cards and holiday cards. My sister and I, we started the tradition of not signing them so that we can just re-gift them. So you don't even sign them.

00:44:43 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 3:

When did cards become minimum $4.99? I agree with you. Minimum.

00:44:48 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 6:

I agree with you there.

00:44:50 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 2:

That is so funny. Oh, my God. Sloan's got a stat for us. What's your stat, Sloan?

00:44:56 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 5:

Hey, so everyone in the U.S. creates something.

00:45:00 - 00:45:21 | Speaker 3:

like three billion tons of extra trash during the holidays so I'm with Shannon reduce reuse baby yeah Shannon's doing it not because she's trying to recycle she's doing it because she's just cheap okay yeah but she can just hold on to the recycling part and it's all made up have you seen my gift wrapping skills I

00:45:21 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 1:

used to do it for my job that I I love wrapping gifts I make them look beautiful you just don't well now you know that half of it is all you give me anxiety with with

00:45:31 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 3:

your gift wrapping and your uh presentation on cards because i wonder how long it takes you to do all that is it a long time doing it though really it's kind of therapeutic for you yes i

00:45:40 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 1:

got to go through all the bins of the crap right what tell me about how we cheated on you five

00:45:46 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 3:

times already and is doing it again another world famous war of the roses happens at 7 40 on Mojo in the Morning. Hello, you coward. Good morning.

00:46:01 - 00:46:02 | Speaker 1:

Hello?

00:46:02 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 3:

Hello, coward.

00:46:04 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 1:

We can hear you. We know you're there.

00:46:07 - 00:46:07 | Unknown:

Coward.

00:46:08 - 00:46:09 | Speaker 3:

Brian?

00:46:10 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm here.

00:46:11 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 3:

You didn't call us yesterday, did you, you son of a bitch?

00:46:15 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 1:

I was listening, though. Yeah.

00:46:18 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 3:

You know that the entire Lions kingdom right now is after you, Brian, with a Y.

00:46:26 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 2:

I know. I'm not even telling them where I'm delivering that because they'll come find me.

00:46:30 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 3:

Yes, they will.

00:46:31 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 2:

Listen, if I could afford a billboard, I would buy one today that just said, blame Brian.

00:46:36 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:46:38 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 2:

Brian.

00:46:39 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 3:

Of course. Brian, you're a bad, bad man. You're the reason why we've got so many injuries.

00:46:46 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 2:

no that ain't why you have so many injuries yeah it is why you lost that is true that is so true

00:46:54 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 3:

well listen david montgomery has uh a word or two to say to you after the game the other day he said f brian

00:47:01 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 1:

All right, Dan, he's playing it all. All right, Joe in the morning, fans. Wake up, grab your coffee, and let's get ready to do what we do. Come on. Forward down the field, a charging team that will not yield.

00:47:15 - 00:47:39 | Speaker 3:

And when the blue and silver wave, let's go. Spryan is a coward. Rah, rah, rah. When the game, when the game was on, were you going, oh, crap, I should have told them to give it away on Friday? Oh, I did. I was sweating the whole game. I'm freaking out. Well, I'm appreciative of you for answering our phone call today, buddy. We love you, man.

00:47:41 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 2:

All right. Love you, too.

00:47:42 - 00:48:03 | Speaker 3:

All right. War of the Roses coming up here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Stick around for that. We are your home for that. Second date update, the Dirty on the 30. Megan, you're kind of trying to figure out what's going on with Christmas. It's funny because I feel like every year you guys have like the what are we doing thing for Christmas, trying to figure out what you and your dad and your brother are going to do?

00:48:03 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, Christmas Eve is like the big day for our family. So Christmas Eve is our fun party. And that has changed throughout the years because I am the youngest cousin. And, um, for a long, long time, that was just like a drink fest. There weren't kids around. So like once I was definitely 21, it just became like a drinking night with the family and celebrating and having like a late night party and uh it was funny because a lot of times my aunt and uncle like would go to midnight mass and come back and we'd all be like welcome back we're still doing this uh because we're a mess anyways it's changed throughout the years because now there are children around and uh it's become like a more of a family party it's very fun whatever but for christmas day it really is just my dad my brother and i and my brother and i both don't have children so there's no kids around on christmas day and christmas really just becomes well we're supposed to spend time together because it's christmas but there's nothing to do and when you're like adults the gift exchange takes five minutes and then it's what do we do

00:49:12 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 3:

what's going on are you gonna see both of them or is your brother gonna spend time with his girlfriend your dad gonna spend time with his girlfriend so as the new appointed head of our

00:49:22 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 2:

family which is not something i wanted to take on but has been bestowed upon me how did you was

00:49:27 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 3:

there an election in november that elected you that or when did how did that it was almost like

00:49:31 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 2:

a reverse dictatorship it's like nobody in the family wanted to be the decision maker so it was forced upon me as and i'm gonna i'm gonna play this car because because i'm a girl it's because i'm a girl uh but i had to take over thanksgiving this year and i'm like i don't want to cook all day on christmas i don't want to do it uh but there's not really anything to do so i'm wondering for, like, people who don't have children around on Christmas Day. Like, what can we do on Christmas?

00:49:57 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Like, actual Christmas Day.

00:49:58 - 00:50:01 | Speaker 2:

Correct. Yeah. Food-wise and fun-wise.

00:50:01 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Like, is there a new tradition I can start with everybody? I don't know if the girlfriends are going to be around, if the boys are going to bring

00:50:07 - 00:50:08 | Speaker 2:

their girlfriends.

00:50:08 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 7:

But either way, my brother's girlfriend does not have children, and my dad's girlfriend has adult children.

00:50:14 - 00:50:19 | Speaker 2:

You got to do what anybody that doesn't celebrate Christmas does. You got to order Chinese food.

00:50:19 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 6:

And go to the movies. Is that the thing?

00:50:20 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it is.

00:50:21 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 7:

Is that the only thing to do on Christmas?

00:50:24 - 00:50:28 | Speaker 2:

Remember, it was a Christmas story, right? The only thing that was open is a Chinese restaurant.

00:50:28 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 7:

Because the dogs ate the turkey.

00:50:29 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I feel like you and your brother should dress up like Santa Claus and still go get drunk. Like you should bar hop, like full Santa. That would be so funny. All the things, the beard, the hat, the outfit, the shoes, the buckle, like do all of that.

00:50:46 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 7:

Hear me out. Is it extremely lonely to see two 30-year-olds drunk dressed up in a bar? That would be a great new tradition for you guys.

00:50:56 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 3:

That would be amazing.

00:50:56 - 00:51:00 | Speaker 7:

Just us stumbling around downtown until they're all like, open it up.

00:51:00 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 3:

And then like, go to random neighborhoods and sing.

00:51:02 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 7:

Carol? Yeah. You brought Carol, like, is what you're suggesting. Got it.

00:51:06 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 3:

Sounds good to me.

00:51:07 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 7:

I had Carolers in my neighborhood over the weekend, and it made me so happy. You should do that. You should.

00:51:14 - 00:51:18 | Speaker 2:

Do they have, are there any other restaurants or any other stuff that's open on Christmas?

00:51:18 - 00:51:26 | Speaker 3:

I think going to the movies on Christmas is a bad idea. Dreaming of a white trash Christmas.

00:51:27 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God, my family's theme song. We'll decorate the mobile home.

00:51:33 - 00:51:39 | Speaker 2:

All right. Mojo in the morning. Maddie's got an idea for you. Megan, what's up, Maddie?

00:51:40 - 00:51:41 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning.

00:51:42 - 00:51:43 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning.

00:51:44 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so my dad, every Christmas morning, makes a huge breakfast. and, like, we always have people come over, but that's always been a tradition is, like, make a big breakfast. You can make pancakes, make it fun, make Christmas pancakes, and you also have to make Christmas cookies. That's a huge tradition in my family. We always make Christmas cookies.

00:52:02 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:52:02 - 00:52:03 | Speaker 5:

So I feel like that's a month.

00:52:03 - 00:52:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so you've got a couple activities that you can pull off, but then after that, when does the alcohol come into play? Kenny, what's your idea?

00:52:12 - 00:52:23 | Speaker 1:

So me and the wife, once we get off the kids, They'll open their gifts and all that. We send them off to their dad's house. And then me and the wife will go to, like, imagine, get drunk and then watch a movie.

00:52:23 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's good. By the way, you can't call her me and the wife. You've got to say me and my old lady.

00:52:28 - 00:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, me and my old lady because, you know, trucker.

00:52:30 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 7:

Yay! I just screamed so loud I think I pulled a muscle. There's not another morning show that loves truckers as much as we love truckers.

00:52:41 - 00:52:44 | Speaker 2:

We're number one with the mother truckers. What's up, Melina? Hi.

00:52:45 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I was saying Megan should go out and get high and play board games.

00:52:50 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 2:

High board game playing. That's actually fun. What's the best game to play? Is it Shoots and Ladders, or what is it?

00:52:57 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 4:

Cards Against Humanity.

00:52:58 - 00:52:58 | Speaker 2:

Huh?

00:52:59 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 7:

Cards Against Humanity.

00:53:01 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 2:

Cards Against Humanity.

00:53:02 - 00:53:19 | Speaker 7:

Not as much fun with the three people. I'm going to be real honest. Eventually, somebody catches on to who's playing what cards, and then you just pick your favorite person, and it's never me. Have you ever played Taco Cat, Go Cheese Pizza? I love Exploding Cats, Tenzi, and we are a big, like, Phase 10 family.

00:53:20 - 00:53:23 | Speaker 2:

Jessica thinks that you should get drunk and do what, Jess?

00:53:24 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 7:

Make gingerbread houses.

00:53:26 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's going to be a fun house.

00:53:28 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 7:

Actually, I'm more on board with this than what's been suggested. I would love to see my dad and brother, who hate crafting and hate all sorts of, like, artsy projects, and be like, sit down and decorate this house.

00:53:40 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 2:

I've always wondered from parents, what's worse, Elf on the Shelf or gingerbread house making with your kids?

00:53:46 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. We just did gingerbread houses. It is the biggest pain in my ass of all time. They never stick together.

00:53:55 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

Noah has a great idea. This is very Megan if you're going to spend time in Toledo. What's up, Noah?

00:54:02 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on? Good morning, you guys. Good morning. My idea is Waffle House, open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

00:54:12 - 00:54:20 | Speaker 7:

That's a perfect one for you guys. Why don't you do that? I haven't been to Waffle House in, I mean, honestly, weeks, and that's a really long time for me, so this is a great idea.

00:54:20 - 00:54:22 | Speaker 2:

Do they decorate for Christmas at Waffle House?

00:54:22 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 7:

Well, I think there's just more cigarette butts. I go to Waffle House every year for Christmas.

00:54:27 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 2:

You put cigarette butts around the counter? Riley's got the best idea. You can do this, and you can actually stay in Detroit. You can walk there. Riley, what's your idea?

00:54:38 - 00:54:47 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. So my siblings and I are all in our, like, mid to late 20s, and my sister was saying, we don't do anything after breakfast until dinnertime. Why don't we go to the casino?

00:54:47 - 00:54:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, that would be fun. Could you imagine hanging out with the people with the oxygen tanks?

00:54:56 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 7:

Is it fun, or let's be honest, is it a little bit sad?

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 3:

No, there's nothing sad about it.

00:55:02 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 6:

I mean, if you're going with your family, it's fun. Okay.

00:55:05 - 00:55:12 | Speaker 3:

By the way, talking about decorating, can you imagine decorating the oxygen tank sitting there right in front of the Golden Girl slots?

00:55:12 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 6:

Can you put lights around the tank?

00:55:13 - 00:55:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. By the way, why don't we do all these? Seriously, this sounds like a more fun Christmas than spending time with family. Let's go to the Waffle House.

00:55:22 - 00:55:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the big question becomes order of operations here. So we've got to dress up and do the bar crawl in the Santa outfit, go caroling, right? Because you've got to be drunk first. Then we hit the casinos and then end up at Waffle House. Is that the plan?

00:55:32 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 3:

By the way, you may lose the title of being the head of the household after this Christmas. Don't miss this.

00:55:39 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning.

You're a home of War of the Roses. We'll be busting a cheater in a second and a guy that just literally got engaged not that long ago is getting married in less than three weeks. Is he cheating? We'll find out in a second. What's going on, Shannon, with the dirty?

00:57:12 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, President-elect Donald Trump held a news conference yesterday, talked about all sorts of things, but he definitely mentioned those drone sightings over New Jersey and Maryland.

00:57:24 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 2:

The government knows what is happening. Look, our military knows where they took off from. If it's a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. And for some reason, they don't want to comment. And I think they'd be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.

00:57:50 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 4:

Seriously freaking me out. No, I know. I agree. I know. Yeah, here's more.

00:57:57 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 2:

They're very close to Bedminster. I think maybe I won't spend the weekend in Bedminster. I decided to cancel my trip.

00:58:04 - 00:58:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the president-elect also said during that press conference yesterday that he would look at intervening in the potential ban of TikTok here in the U.S.

00:58:12 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 1:

Bro, we found Saddam Hussein or Osama bin Laden in a cave all the way across the world. You tell me we don't know where some drones at in New Jersey. Come on now.

00:58:21 - 00:59:11 | Speaker 3:

I think that they know, and I don't know what it is, but a lot of people are speculating and the speculating makes it worse. It's almost making it worse. Yeah. And especially when you see governors, senators, and Congress people who are somewhat in the know saying they aren't in the know right now and they're not being told this. And then you see, I was watching that there was one of their Pentagon spokespeople that spoke on Friday and he goes, yeah, we really don't know what it is. You don't know what, and by the way, these aren't just, these are not like fun home drones that are little, these are drones that they say are the size of a small SUV. So these are aircraft. If you flew an airplane, like a Cessna airplane in the, they didn't know whose plane it was. Like if you didn't identify with the towers in that area, they would come after your ass.

00:59:11 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 1:

They had an air force on both sides.

00:59:12 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy that you can just go up with a drone and be allowed to do that with these drones.

00:59:17 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

It's nuts. Yeah. Jamie Foxx's birthday celebration, which ended with him needing stitches because somebody threw a glass at his face, stemmed from a prank orchestrated by crew members from the Jackass production company. Finally getting some details on what happened here. So the scene was the very famous Mr. Chow's in Beverly Hills, a place for celebrities to see and be seen. Friday night, Jamie was eating with his family, including his kids. That's a big part of the story. and somebody from a private VIP party upstairs pointed a laser at Jamie's table and they were projecting the image of a penis and he was upset because his kids were at the table so he very politely walked upstairs to the VIP room

01:00:00 - 01:01:11 | Speaker 3:

asked them, like, can you please stop? I'm trying to eat with my family. The VIP room was rented out that night by Dickhouse Productions, which is owned and operated by Johnny Knoxville and Spike Jones of Jackass fame. None of the Jackass stars were at this party, but the group was like crew members who work for them, who work for the production company. And so Jamie was just upset and he said, please do not do this in front of my daughters. And that's when a Jackass Forever crew member allegedly threw a drinking glass which ended up hitting jamie in the face cutting his mouth he needed the stitches now an attorney representing this dick house production said um the version of events that has been presented is totally inaccurate and deeply unfair so it's it's he said he said at this point what's the name of the production dick house okay i just want to hear you say it again next story is sisa has finally announced the release date for Is it Lena or Lana, the long-awaited deluxe edition of her chart-topping album S.O.S.? That's the set to arrive on Friday, if you are a SZA fan. And then I saw the trailer yesterday for this carpool karaoke, like the big Christmas edition that we're going to get.

01:01:11 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 4:

They still do that show? I thought he was off the air.

01:01:14 - 01:01:23 | Speaker 3:

He is, but I thought that was on it. Yeah, yeah. Chapel Roan is doing some singing with her parents. Listen to this.

01:01:23 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 1:

Lady Gaga is doing it

01:01:36 - 01:02:08 | Speaker 3:

It streams Monday on Apple You're right And guys, Dua Lipa is doing one of my favorite songs ever too There you go I don't think you can carpool karaoke your own song, though. It's Apple Music's Zane Lo who is driving. Quote, unquote, driving. I was like, I'm pretty sure Apple bought it from them. Yeah, but this is their first Christmas special, so. You can watch it now. Started streaming last night.

01:02:12 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 4:

Are you done or you got one more song?

01:02:13 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 3:

Good, man. I got War of the Roses literally in seconds, but you have an interesting phone call. What's up?

01:04:01 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, I heard you talking about the drones. And I live in, well, right next to Toledo in Rossford. Megan knows. Yeah. And I guess we just saw some last night. I didn't personally, but I'll be looking. I saw that.

01:04:12 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. No, because it was over the park, right? Everybody's saying it was at Wildwood.

01:04:17 - 01:04:19 | Speaker 1:

It was over Wildwood, I guess over $7.95.

01:04:20 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 2:

That was in New Jersey. This is like some sort of rumor that I saw spreading all over the Mommy Facebook page and the nosy asses of Toledo page. and nobody's actually seen it but everybody's like i saw it posted it's just like everybody's

01:04:35 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

sharing this fake news there but somebody was saying that and that there were some northern michigan uh sightings of of drones too though but it's all like posts online is it i'll be looking tonight that's for day well listen i wouldn't know the difference between that the stars in the sky and an airplane that's flying landing at metro airport but i will say this the people that are in New Jersey say that these

01:05:00 - 01:05:16 | Speaker 3:

things are noticeable like they are as big as planes and they're flying way lower than what a plane would be so all right we're the roses time here on the mojo in the morning show busting cheaters if you suspect that you're being cheated on text cheater to 95500 and we will get you on

01:05:16 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 1:

the show catching cheaters and proud of it ow i'm sorry it's your home for war the roses on mojo in Good morning.

01:05:23 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 3:

Mackenzie. Mackenzie. Hi. Hi. You think your fiancé is cheating on you?

01:05:31 - 01:05:32 | Speaker 5:

Um, yeah.

01:05:32 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 3:

Why do you think that?

01:05:36 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 5:

Um, well, I've known him since college. You know, really, we're best friends and everything. And it's just things have been really weird recently. He's just acting a lot different than he used to, at least.

01:05:49 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 3:

he's kind of changing how he is with you or he's spending less time with you what is it

01:05:56 - 01:06:21 | Speaker 5:

yeah he's different like when we were at school um he's he was kind of an introvert you know he's a really smart guy and everything but now he definitely goes out a lot more which is like that's great like it's cool for him um is he going out with you yeah or no well um yeah we go out i I mean, like, we have fun and everything, but, like...

01:06:21 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 3:

But that doesn't worry you, though. Does that worry you more that he's going out with other people?

01:06:26 - 01:06:57 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. I'm, like, I'm kind of conflicted about it all because, I don't know, he doesn't really text me when he goes out with his friends. He doesn't tell me when he's coming home or anything. And then he's always hungover nowadays. And did he used to do those things? Is that a big change in behavior? No. That's the thing, yeah. He never used to do this stuff. Okay. this is not his not what he was like in college and he's always felt really insecure because like he knows that he didn't have like the typical college experience and so he's doing that now

01:06:57 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 4:

i guess but it doesn't make it doesn't make sense not really who he is isn't this sometimes some just like what happens with young people you kind of freak out you feel like you missed out on stuff i know that i didn't have the normal college experience and i definitely went through this phase of like oh i gotta catch up because i missed out and he's about to get married too

01:07:17 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 3:

oh yeah when are you guys supposed to be getting married really soon like in the next three weeks

01:07:22 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 5:

oh wow did that soon wait yeah we're just we're just gonna be going to the courthouse

01:07:28 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 3:

nothing crazy all right so you're about to get married within three weeks and you have a fear that your fiancé is cheating on you. We're going to call him up to offer him a dozen free roses and see where he's going to send them to. Could you do us a favor and just mute your phone? I got a couple of worries with this one. Number one worry that I have is that while we are doing the War of the Roses on him, he sends you the flowers. Now all of a sudden he feels like you don't trust him, and you guys are going to be married in three weeks, And if he doesn't send the flowers to you, then that's going to be even worse. But are you sure you want to do this?

01:08:11 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I do. I really do.

01:08:14 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Mute your phone. Okay. Where are the roses? We're hoping that he sends the flowers to Mackenzie.

01:08:31 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 2:

hello hi is this parker here it is hi parker my name is nicole i'm calling you from a brand new online floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers do you have like 30 seconds to answer two survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses

01:08:51 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 6:

not going to cost you anything uh i i only caught like half of that sorry so you need me to I don't, I don't understand.

01:09:01 - 01:09:15 | Speaker 2:

So we're a new company just trying to, this is basically a marketing technique for us. We're trying to get our name out there. So we're offering a free dozen roses in exchange for you to answer two survey questions about your floral buying habits.

01:09:16 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 7:

Okay. Yeah. As long as I don't have to give like any credit card information or anything like that.

01:09:21 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 2:

Nope. Nothing like that. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Parker?

01:09:27 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 7:

Yes, I think.

01:09:29 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

01:09:34 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, probably.

01:09:35 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. They will go out later on this afternoon, and I'm going to go ahead and get a first and a last name of who you want these to go to, okay? And then I'll get some more information after that.

01:09:54 - 01:09:55 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

01:09:57 - 01:09:58 | Speaker 2:

Do you have a first and a last name?

01:09:59 - 01:10:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:10:00 - 01:10:01 | Speaker 3:

Sure, it's Olivia.

01:10:03 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 4:

Okay. And what's her telephone number? Okay. Can you say that one more time? Okay, and what's her relationship to you?

01:10:27 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 2:

I work with her.

01:10:29 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay. and just confirming that red roses is okay i can i can change it slightly okay awesome um and parker we do something unique at roses bloom.com and instead of sending a card with the flowers we let you record a digital voice note so basically what's going to happen is olivia is going to get a text message alerting her she has a delivery and then she'll be able to play this voice memo instead of reading a card so i'm going to go ahead and record that with you i'm gonna count you down and you can say whatever you want okay okay three two one

01:11:08 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 3:

hey thank you for being my mentor

01:11:14 - 01:11:30 | Speaker 4:

okay is that it she'll recognize your voice parker i'm sorry she'll recognize your voice i just want to make sure

01:11:30 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 3:

uh yeah she should but you could also put my name okay um i also have to let you know that

01:11:37 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 4:

this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that

01:11:41 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 1:

yeah sure great parker i'm gonna jump on just to wrap up this call and then we'll send those flowers off I just need to tell you one last thing while we have been talking to you and you sent flowers off to Olivia your fiancee Mackenzie has been listening in and just heard you send

01:12:07 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 3:

another woman flowers I'm I'm so confused why are you sending another girl flowers we're gonna get married uh i'm confused about what's going on right now a little bit to be honest i i thought

01:12:23 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 1:

hold on let me let me explain then real quick parker mckenzie contacted us because she was not feeling comfortable with your guys's relationship and she wanted to see who you would send flowers to hoping that you'd send them to her but you sent them to another woman And although I don't think it sounds like your relationship with this other woman is anything romantic, it sounds like it's, is she a work person or somebody that you work with?

01:12:58 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:13:00 - 01:13:05 | Speaker 1:

Is it somebody that you have more than a work relationship with?

01:13:07 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 2:

No, not at all.

01:13:09 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 5:

Are you spending time with her, like, after hours?

01:13:15 - 01:13:17 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not.

01:13:17 - 01:13:28 | Speaker 4:

So why then would you choose to send flowers to somebody that you work with as opposed to the girl that you're getting married to here in just a couple of weeks?

01:13:29 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 3:

Because she's helped me since I started there, and they're free flowers. That sounds like a bunch of bulls**t.

01:13:37 - 01:13:50 | Speaker 1:

Parker, I kind of get that it's not a romance. I feel like it's not. I mean, you're talking about mentoring and stuff. I don't know if I'd tell somebody I'm fooling around with.

01:13:50 - 01:13:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm not sending flowers to somebody.

01:13:52 - 01:13:56 | Speaker 1:

But he is sending. He did say it was free, and he's giving away something free.

01:13:57 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 5:

And if he was with her, wouldn't he be, like, flirty in the message? I feel like this is just kind of sorry, but, like, dumb guy syndrome. Like, I got something free. I need a thank you. This is perfect.

01:14:10 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 1:

Parker, has there ever been anything between you and Olivia, who you just sent the flowers to?

01:14:18 - 01:14:19 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely not.

01:14:21 - 01:14:29 | Speaker 1:

You get the idea, though, that you understand Mackenzie's not feeling real comfortable right now? Or do you not understand that?

01:14:30 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I understand it, but this is just how Mackenzie is.

01:14:34 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 1:

What do you mean by that?

01:14:36 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 3:

She's like this. She's a jealous type of person.

01:14:41 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 1:

So she gets jealous with your relationships with other women?

01:14:47 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 3:

I don't have relationships with other women. I work with this person.

01:14:51 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

No, I understand that. But has she been jealous before? You said she's jealous, yeah.

01:14:56 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Yes, she has, but not of anything that was worth it.

01:15:00 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 2:

being jealous of okay why don't why don't we let you guys talk more and let's ask the question is it inappropriate to send flowers to another woman even if the other woman is somebody that

01:15:14 - 01:15:32 | Speaker 1:

you called a mentor this is the home of war of the roses mojo in the morning join the discussion now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 this is mojo in the morning

01:15:32 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 2:

bojo in the morning where are the roses that you just heard send flowers obviously to another woman but did his reasoning for sending the flowers add up to cheating 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 They're going to get some time talking to each other We'll check back in just a second Danielle, are you there?

01:16:11 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, hi

01:16:12 - 01:16:14 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Danielle, what do you think?

01:16:15 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 5:

Well, so, I want to start by saying I am never one to defend the man In almost any situation

01:16:21 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, by the way, that is so hard for you to say When you've got the beautiful men On this radio show Kevin, Mojo, Zach all listening it hurt my heart hurt my heart say what you gotta say with your chest for once i

01:16:37 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 5:

actually believe him now i don't blame her for being uncomfortable with it but i do believe that it wasn't anything you know yeah that it was that it was something for once i actually believed the

01:16:49 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 2:

man yeah so as mentor you're are you talking about men you don't believe men in the war of the roses Not in general, right?

01:16:55 - 01:16:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah.

01:16:56 - 01:17:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, good. All right, I'm just making sure. Nate, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Your thoughts?

01:17:02 - 01:17:13 | Speaker 3:

I don't think he's cheating. It sounds like his girlfriend is a jealous type. She went to a bad psychic, and now she's just rolling off the feeling because of her horoscope or something. Okay.

01:17:15 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 5:

Her chakra's not a line.

01:17:17 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think, though, that the change in his demeanor is probably adding to this.

01:17:23 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 3:

It got me. That's why I said what I said. I'd be mad, too, though. I'd be mad, too, if your girlfriend was always, you know, my old lady was always on my butt about cheating and whatnot. I'd be pretty mad if I got prank called on the radio.

01:17:37 - 01:17:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. By the way, the old lady came out. Not a prank call. I love it. By the way, well, I think that the interesting part of her saying he's changed his demeanor, he's now going out, he's hungover all the time. Like, this is something that you're like, I've never seen this out of this guy. We're getting ready to get married.

01:17:51 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 1:

Three weeks before getting married, that would throw me off, too. Right.

01:17:56 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 2:

Janelle.

01:17:58 - 01:17:59 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:17:59 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 6:

First time caller. Long time listener. Hey, Janelle's on the phone. Woo!

01:18:05 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 2:

And it's with War of the Roses. How great is that? What's going on?

01:18:10 - 01:18:15 | Speaker 6:

Thank you so much. I think that he was stopped. He didn't, he wasn't listening fully.

01:18:16 - 01:18:21 | Speaker 2:

You would say that again. Your phone has got a little digital problem there. What did you say? You think he's getting off? What did you say?

01:18:23 - 01:18:24 | Speaker 6:

I think he was lying.

01:18:24 - 01:18:25 | Speaker 2:

You think he was lying?

01:18:25 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 6:

I think he's not tipped off.

01:18:26 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 2:

He was tipped off. Boy, you're the first on that one. Usually when people think that they knew who we were, they right away just start blowing up our text chat line at 95500.

01:18:38 - 01:18:49 | Speaker 1:

Or if he was tipped off, why wouldn't he then send him to the fiance? Like, why still put yourself in a situation to make things complicated? For me, it's that voice memo that totally kind of saves him.

01:18:50 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thanks for being my mentor.

01:18:51 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 6:

But that's where I think that he, it was halfway through when he realized it. I think that because he said he didn't hear what she said. Could you repeat it? And I think at that point, and the way he just responded was so cold and rude. It wasn't even mad. It was like, I've been busted. How am I going to fix this real fast? Okay. I don't know. Okay.

01:19:11 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. That was an interesting thought that he could have in the middle of the call realized, uh-oh, this is not good. What's up, Brandy?

01:19:19 - 01:19:45 | Speaker 4:

hi i just wanted to i think it would be uh interesting to see where they work because i have worked a long time with some members of the opposite sex and i don't know their phone number like the back of my hand like that he knew that phone number way too fast he was way too comfortable giving it twice like i just i don't believe him yeah i could see yeah that way that was uh that

01:19:45 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

was quick usually they have to go look for it or they don't understand why we're asking for their phone number because they get so taken back by the fact that they feel like they're giving out somebody else's personal info uh real quick i want to go back to uh to mckenzie and parker who are on hold

01:20:00 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 4:

And Mackenzie, do you feel like what he did was inappropriate by doing the whole mentor thing?

01:20:09 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. I'm just in shock that he's not more worried about how I feel about this. I don't want him sending flowers to any other person but me. I don't care who it is.

01:20:26 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 3:

I get that.

01:20:27 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 4:

What about you, Parker? Do you see anything inappropriate with what you did?

01:20:35 - 01:20:51 | Speaker 8:

No, I personally don't. I didn't spend any money, and I've talked to—this isn't a hidden person. Mackenzie knows about Olivia. I've given her praise before because she's helped me so much. So, no, I don't see this as inappropriate at all, to be honest.

01:20:51 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 2:

I think the timing is just bad because you guys are just about to get married, And obviously like you, you want to be all about each other here, but I think there is something to what Mackenzie said of, it does, it does make me a little nervous that you kind of don't, you're not acknowledging and validating that she, that these sorts of things make her uncomfortable. Even if there was nothing going on, and to be honest with you, I kind of believe you there, but she, she feels a certain way about it and you're kind of just like blowing it off.

01:21:25 - 01:21:38 | Speaker 8:

I do understand, but with the understanding, there also comes a level of, hey, I don't think this is, you know, I don't think I did anything wrong. I'm going to be honest about that. There you go.

01:21:38 - 01:21:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm with him. There's only someone that you can validate. Somebody's crazy. But he didn't even acknowledge that it's true. Because this ain't the first time this happened.

01:21:46 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 2:

But you're both right. You're both right.

01:21:48 - 01:21:57 | Speaker 4:

I, like, validate somebody's crazy. For real, man. Yeah. Fred, what are your thoughts on this one? War of the Roses?

01:21:58 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 5:

First off, good morning, everybody.

01:22:00 - 01:22:02 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning, Fred. Thank you, Fred.

01:22:03 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this is the original Fred, Kev. What's going on?

01:22:05 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 6:

Oh, she's Fred. Little baby is tripping. It's a mentor. They free-flowered, just like he said. Like, she's just looking for a reason for him to be cheating. And I look at it, buddy better get up and run because that, yeah.

01:22:23 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, I still think it was dumb of him, but I get where you're coming from.

01:22:29 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 4:

I feel bad saying that, though, and they're getting married in less than a month.

01:22:34 - 01:22:36 | Speaker 2:

That's what makes this very, very interesting.

01:22:38 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 5:

But come on, how many people that got married is getting ready to get married, and then, you know, they get all nervous, they're going out, they're drinking more, or whatever they may be?

01:22:47 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I was nervous before I got married. I was drinking a bunch, but I wasn't drinking to the point where I was getting hung over all the time. But you do. Maybe he's scared. Maybe this guy, I'll be honest with you, maybe he's stressful at work because he used that as his, this is my mentor. And maybe he's stressful about getting married. Marriage ain't no joke. I mean, it's the commitment of commitments. And sometimes as a guy, you feel like, uh-oh, I don't know, man. I'm going to have to be the supporter through life. I don't know. This could be a stressful time for both him and her. And sometimes you see things when you're stressed out. What's up, Dan? Hey, how we doing? Doing good, Dan. War of the Roses. A couple last comments here. What's your thoughts?

01:23:35 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, I just wanted to say, I mean, I'm with Fred here. I feel bad for the both of them. She's definitely finding a reason to doubt them. But, I mean, why so late for her to think this?

01:23:48 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 4:

Well, that's the thing. I think that there's stress on both sides. I think that a lot of times when you're accusatory towards this, you start seeing things, and it might be your cold feet coming into play. Right, right. I think you've got to think about that. Last, real quick, Felicia, where is Felicia at? Are you there on this line, Felicia?

01:24:13 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

01:24:14 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 4:

What are your thoughts?

01:24:14 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 1:

no well i feel like maybe he's having second thoughts because he did mention that she's naturally a jealous and insecure person and he's getting ready to marry her so he's probably starting to get struck out about what he's getting ready to marry is this going to be his life and also you tell me what guy knows the difference between roses i understand that shannon offered him another option but maybe he doesn't even realize the meaning behind red roses yeah i

01:24:44 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 4:

I know guys that think roses are all red, like that roses are red because of that. So Nakia brings up a really interesting point that not one person has brought up until now. What is that, Nakia?

01:24:56 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

That he said that he's purchased flowers within the last six months.

01:25:00 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:25:00 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 5:

Who are they for?

01:25:02 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 4:

That's a great point. I mean, that's one right there. And I think Shannon uses that as her doorway in to see if they'll send flowers. But when guys usually answer that, it's usually no.

01:25:11 - 01:25:12 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if I should ask.

01:25:13 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 4:

And who did you send them to?

01:25:14 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Like, I wonder if I add that in. Then it's more than two questions. But, yeah.

01:25:19 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 4:

Nakia, that's a great point. We got to see if Mackenzie can figure that out. War of the Roses.

01:25:26 - 01:25:34 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. Kev is up next. And Kev, for those that don't know this and haven't heard us talk about this, because sometimes Kev will make a comment and people will go, Kev, did he break up? What's going on? uh you you you're kind of going through it's it's kind of a process though but it but you say duh you have to remember something sometimes people will hear something a hundred times and then pick it up for the first time because everybody's lives are so busy right but uh you're going through a little bit of a split and what's one of the things that's been kind of an interesting part of this

01:28:12 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 5:

um yeah so moving out and whether you've been in a relationship or you know you had a roommate um there are things that you take with you when you depart and some of these things are physical but my thing is password related and in particular is specific to streaming now i have acquired all of the streaming platforms wait when you say we acquired it sounds like

01:28:39 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 4:

it was a court of law that gave you the maybe streaming do you pay for the streaming platform

01:28:44 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's what I meant.

01:28:45 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 4:

Okay, yeah.

01:28:45 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so my financials provide for the Hulu, the Netflix, the Peacock, and the Apple and the Amazon Prime. No Disney Plus? And the Disney Plus. Package it, you know what I'm saying, with the ESPN Plus on there, too, you know what I'm saying, no ads.

01:28:59 - 01:29:05 | Speaker 4:

And Hulu, right? Yeah, Hulu, no ads, yeah. Wait, you're not going to leave Sherelle high and dry with no-

01:29:05 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 5:

That's my question, man. Oh, you are a bad man. Listen, so she going, you know what I'm saying, move on with her TV and whatnot that already has the login so do i just switch up my password or do i allow her to continue to come on you guys

01:29:23 - 01:29:27 | Speaker 4:

are you guys are still friendly with each other yeah but that don't look if you don't get access

01:29:27 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 5:

to me that you'll get access to you know what i mean dude she gave you a child i see you you let

01:29:34 - 01:29:43 | Speaker 2:

her use those passwords until somebody new comes in your life and it's weird for them to log into your netflix and see her name and her profile why do i have to wait for somebody else to come into

01:29:43 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 1:

of my life why would you why would you cut that tie right now because what do you what what is

01:29:49 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 4:

she uh you said she's taking the tv what is she taking from you that you guys could barter with

01:29:54 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 5:

none i was tripping off this air fryer for real that my cousin bought but i was like whatever

01:30:00 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 6:

Walmart yesterday, they have the Drew Barrymore ones. I'm telling you, that's the best one. Go. I'm going to get my own air fryer. She had it. Wait to go to Walmart until after the holiday, because I lost 10 hours of my life.

01:30:12 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 5:

But still go. The Ninja 8 quart one double basket is half off

01:30:16 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 3:

right now. Yeah, I need a double basket. It's half off right now. Why are you looking

01:30:20 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 4:

at me like that? Why am I looking at you? Because you're a cheap son of a bitch.

01:30:23 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 3:

Don't strip her. It costs you

01:30:25 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 6:

nothing. No, it does not. To continue to stare. What do you mean? Oh, okay. I was about to say. It costs you nothing to share.

01:30:32 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 5:

I have to share with my dad and my brother. Why?

01:30:36 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 3:

Y'all family, though. This is your family.

01:30:39 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 5:

She gave you family.

01:30:40 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 3:

Listen, this is not that.

01:30:41 - 01:30:43 | Speaker 5:

She gave you a child.

01:30:44 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 3:

This is not that. Cameron, what did you want to say?

01:30:48 - 01:30:51 | Speaker 2:

He needs a mouth. Thank you so much. We'll say that all over again.

01:30:51 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 4:

Something's wrong with our phone system here. This is what I mean, Lydia. Call the helpline and tell them, Lydia, that our phone line's bad. Ask them what we do on this one. What's going on, Cameron? hold on i can't understand i can't understand an effing word you're saying say that again you there oh it might have been his phone i don't know but if the phones have been crap

01:31:12 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 3:

call back cameron what's up george hey tell kevin to switch everything she can get her own

01:31:18 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 4:

you're brutal george you must have had a bad breakup or something why you got to be so evil

01:31:25 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm still married, thinking about getting divorced, and I would still do that. Really? I'm on your side, Kevin. Come on, man.

01:31:32 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 4:

You guys are having struggles, so that's why you're just a man-hater right now.

01:31:36 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 3:

No struggles. Life is good. Life is good besides that, and I have beautiful children at home. Amen.

01:31:42 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you know what you do? George, tell me what your thoughts are on this one. Kevin shouldn't change the passwords. What he should do is make up fake girl names in about a week or two weeks. Oh, my God. That's diabolical.

01:31:53 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 6:

Do not cause unnecessary drama. I like that. I like that. Tracy. I like that.

01:31:59 - 01:32:01 | Speaker 4:

LaKeisha. I like that. I like that.

01:32:01 - 01:32:13 | Speaker 6:

Let me tell you something. I had access to all of my ex-husbands streaming stuff for a really long time. And the day that I logged into Netflix and it was like, you need to create an account.

01:32:13 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that bastard. That's what I'm saying.

01:32:15 - 01:32:20 | Speaker 6:

Let it stay. Our relationship changed. But you take it from the kids.

01:32:20 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, God. Here's the thing.

01:32:21 - 01:32:22 | Speaker 4:

Take them back to court.

01:32:22 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 3:

Here's the thing. When you're in a relationship with someone, they get access to you, right? They have certain privileges that regular people don't have. That's just the benefit of being in a relationship. So once you're not in a relationship, you don't get that benefit. It's bluey.

01:32:37 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 4:

What if Shirelle and you have ex-sex, which is a possibility? And if you have ex-sex, then what ends up happening is you got to at least give her one of the passwords. You got to get a seven-day free trial.

01:32:50 - 01:33:01 | Speaker 5:

I truly think, like, if you don't have kids, yeah, that's in your right. Like, don't do it, because, like, please don't. But also, if you change it, I kind of expect that. I just think it's nice. You're taking that from our child.

01:33:01 - 01:33:04 | Speaker 6:

Easy way to throw her, to be kind and throw her a bone.

01:33:04 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 3:

Hey, YouTube is where it's at. What's going on, Tasha? Miss Rachel Free. Tasha.

01:33:09 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I was just thinking, I don't think the streaming platforms would even allow them to continue sharing, at least some of them anyway, because once they see that you guys are in separate places, they're going to make her pay for her own anyway.

01:33:23 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 4:

The geo changes. That's if you got the cheap plan. Yeah, it depends.

01:33:27 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 6:

He doesn't have the cheap plan. I don't know.

01:33:29 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this guy doesn't skimp on his Netflix.

01:33:33 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 3:

Netflix is like $20 a month.

01:33:34 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Scarlett?

01:33:35 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 1:

They're all expensive. So I've been through this before with Breakup, and all these streaming services are going to catch up to them being in separate households and they're going to make him pay more regardless

01:33:47 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 4:

so he might as well pick her off now don't even wait break cut cut the umbilical cord i would just

01:33:55 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 6:

say let netflix be the bad guy how or just do netflix because eventually it will come up like i see that you are not in the same household i'm gonna send you a code 10 000 factor authentication

01:34:07 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 3:

whatever now here's the thing that i do all day every platform outside of netflix has my email address and my login information okay netflix was under her name but then i updated it with my card so okay but so if it's her account will they send her the information yeah i don't know but you see

01:34:23 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 6:

what i'm saying let the streaming service be the bad guy let let it tell her you guys are in separate households now you need your own account don't you do that i'm telling you it's the little things

01:34:33 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 4:

though that are getting magnified and if her email is attached to it she can do forgot password and reset up a password and then you're logged out still paying for it you'll have to take your credit card off then i just yeah change the card suzanne actually has a funny one for us suzanne cav is going through a breakup and he's thinking of kicking off sherelle off all of his streaming

01:34:53 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 1:

platforms what did your ex do so my ex kept me on but he just changed my

01:35:00 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 2:

profile it now says freeloader and my picture is different too it's like a cartoon alien

01:35:08 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 1:

you guys must be friendly with each other hopefully very very yeah yeah hold on kiki wants to come down on kevin thank you kiki what's up don't do it yes kev you're a freaking jerk

01:35:22 - 01:35:34 | Speaker 2:

okay that is so freaking petty like you it's not costing you anything let her stay on everything and when you're ready for somebody else to come in, then you change it. Like, come on, don't be a jerk.

01:35:34 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 3:

But Kiki, why do I have to wait until somebody else comes along? Because it's called etiquette. It's called common courtesy. It's called being a human kindness. This guy's a fake Christian here. We know that. Don't do that. He's meany-weeny. There is nothing wrong with separation. Yeah.

01:35:55 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 2:

There isn't anything wrong with separation, but there is something wrong. I mean, you have to go out of your way to be petty. So what about the people that go out of it?

01:36:04 - 01:36:10 | Speaker 3:

So, Kiki, do you feel the same way about people who go on social media and delete all evidence of the person they were with?

01:36:11 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 2:

Yes, you all are idiots.

01:36:13 - 01:36:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay, well, if you feel the same way, then I ain't tripping.

01:36:16 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because you said already you're not going to delete that. Yeah, I'm not doing that. Marlene has a maybe solution. What's up, Marlene?

01:36:23 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 2:

Whatever it is, have her pay half. See, you can't count on people, bro.

01:36:29 - 01:36:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:36:29 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

But if you don't pay her off one time, then it's easy.

01:36:34 - 01:37:17 | Speaker 1:

Then you got your bill collector pants on. You don't call him Marlee. Hey, can I say something, though? Breakups are hard. They're hard not only just emotionally. They're hard financially. Think about this. You guys go from sharing things to now you got to each go get your own places. And that gets really tough and expensive. And you don't want to put her out to have to go out and get new streaming platforms. I would say just let it be. And you know what? Then when you guys both go into new relationships, then you decide at that point, especially if the guy is better looking than you, which is a very good possibility. Well, as long as he don't look like you, I should be good. By the way, what would you do if I came in one morning going, hey, Kev, man, thanks for letting me use it. I was hanging out with Sherelle last night.

01:37:17 - 01:37:19 | Speaker 3:

I say she's going through a really rough time.

01:37:22 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, damn.

01:37:24 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 3:

You are a dick. Merry Christmas to all the side chicks Who thought they were meeting the family this holiday

01:37:31 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 1:

Maybe next year Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning Alright, it is Mojo in the Morning I am literally upset about this For some reason In all the years that Chelsea and I Have been together There are two things that my wife will not let me do And I don't know if other relationships Are like this Maybe you are in the relationship with somebody that won't let you do certain things. And here are the two things that I am not allowed to do at this time of the year. I am not allowed to decorate our Christmas tree. I have nothing to do with the Christmas tree except for helping her put it together because she needs my height and my strength to be able to do it. And number two, I cannot wrap a Christmas gift. She refuses to allow me to wrap any of the kids' gifts or wrap any gifts for any family members because she says both of the things she has to redo too, because I do such a bad job. Do you even want to be repping gifts? Let's be honest. Honestly, no, I have no interest, but I would like to help. I would like to help, but I'd also like to say, you know, and also the other, and the third thing, I can't fold the towels. She will

01:38:37 - 01:38:42 | Speaker 2:

not allow me. That's a big one. I have a very certain way. She has a folding the towels method

01:38:42 - 01:39:06 | Speaker 1:

that to me is like just the most ridiculous thing ever. It does look pretty, but she will not allow me. She'll refold any towel. Like I'll try to help her out. Like I washed the towels the other day and washed, you know, some of the hand towels that are in our kitchen. And I'm like, we got fancy hands, absolutely. For drying pots. We're going to dry the pot. You put it on the little oven here? Yes, and that one says F you, Megan.

01:39:07 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 2:

No, I felt like a fancy adult when I had one for different seasons.

01:39:10 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, did you really? Now I know. I'm going to have to search for, that would be my gift, your stocking stuffer. So I want to know what it is that you're not allowed to do. What is it that your husband or wife, boyfriend or girlfriend would not allow you to do? I was telling buddies about this yesterday. And one of my buddies says that his wife is not allowed to cut their lawn. And he was telling me that when he goes out of town, he has to either cut it right away before he's leaving. Or he has to tell her you cannot cut the lawn. And he'll even like pull like, I don't know, the one of the, I don't even know, the spark plug or something off of his lawnmower. knowing that she'll try to go out there and cut the lawn because he said he came home one time and he said it was an effing mess. He said it looked like a drunk guy had done it and he's very particular about his lawn.

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

But was it cut? Because I get this criticism.

01:40:00 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 4:

all the time like my brother is like the lines were not straight i'm like but was it cut yes

01:40:05 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 1:

you're welcome and it all grows back right right it looks good for half a day yeah it's like a haircut at a place that you don't trust um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 are there any things that

01:40:17 - 01:40:55 | Speaker 2:

you will not allow west to do the wrapping the gifts one is a big one but it's more so to me i am not allowed to touch anything that has anything to do with the technology in our house so he being like the software engineer guy that he is he has everything set up on apps and timers and certain like you can go on this app and click a button and certain lights come on but i you guys know this you've been to my house i like turning all of my lights on at night and he's like please don't touch anything it's all very scheduled on a timer so if it has to do with any of that like alexas those sorts of things i am not allowed to touch them yeah you'll throw it all off what's

01:40:55 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 3:

up ryan how you doing good good so i'm allowed to wrap the presents but i don't want to that's where you got to reverse psychology it and you say you're so much better at it than i am

01:41:07 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 1:

i hate to break it to you so do you do it purposely bad just to prove your point yeah

01:41:15 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 6:

Weaponized incompetence.

01:41:19 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 3:

The towels are too hard.

01:41:22 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That is so funny. What's up, Suzanne? How you doing?

01:41:27 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 6:

Good morning.

01:41:28 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Suzanne. What is it? No, that's okay.

01:41:31 - 01:41:33 | Speaker 6:

You're running? You okay?

01:41:34 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was.

01:41:36 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I like it. And I stopped.

01:41:38 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 1:

Getting a little fitness done during the show.

01:41:41 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 6:

I am. I am.

01:41:43 - 01:41:49 | Speaker 1:

before i go to work it's early here still yeah what is what is it that uh you or your husband

01:41:49 - 01:42:05 | Speaker 5:

is not allowed to do i will not i i know he means well but i do ask him really nicely not to wash dishes whether it's pans plate forks because i need to redo them back sides are never done

01:42:05 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 1:

chelsea says to me that the dishwasher doesn't get anything clean it's for just the final cleaning Like, she makes, I can't put anything in there that has any remnants of food on there.

01:42:14 - 01:42:15 | Speaker 6:

I do the same thing. Really? Yeah.

01:42:15 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 1:

Like, I'm like, that's what the whole point of the dishwasher is.

01:42:18 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

No, it's for that super hot water that will sanitize everything, but I need to clean it.

01:42:22 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. And what about you, Heidi? What's going on?

01:42:26 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I've been married over 30 years, and over those years, I have screwed up so many things. I would say by accident, but it's worked in my favor. I cannot load the dishwasher, do laundry, cook, do our taxes, keep the checkbook.

01:42:44 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 1:

What do you do besides him?

01:42:47 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 7:

I do lots of other things. I wash dishes after the cooking is done, but I'm not allowed to load the dishwasher. My sister is definitely not allowed to load the dishwasher, because one year she loaded it and broke it.

01:42:58 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, geez. Okay. That's amazing, though. There's a lot of things that he's, like, not allowing you to do. It's, like, pretty crazy. Anitra, what's up?

01:43:08 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 8:

Hey there. How are you guys?

01:43:10 - 01:43:11 | Speaker 1:

We're good, Anitra. What's going on?

01:43:13 - 01:43:23 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, my husband is not allowed to cut the grass. I cut the grass. Really? He cuts it with zero love. He cuts it with zero love. Like, it's like a triangle when he gets done. Like, I don't know.

01:43:25 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 1:

That's beautiful, by the way. I love that you say that. You cut it with more love than he cuts it with.

01:43:30 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 8:

Absolutely. I cook with more love. I cut the grass with more love. He probably has a little bit more common sense than I have sometimes, just to be honest, but I'm not going to lie. Yeah, yeah. You're the best. He's a sensible one. I'm not sensible. He's very sensible.

01:43:42 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 1:

Anitra, call us more often. We love you. Thanks so much. What's up, Gloria?

01:43:47 - 01:44:07 | Speaker 9:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. When you brought up the wrapping of gifts, it just really triggered something that literally happened last night. My husband really wants to help wrap the gifts so bad, and I'm hiding in the bedroom to do it, and he begged me, and I told him, yeah, that's fine. Come on, you can help. Well, he walked in with a roll of duct tape.

01:44:08 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, no.

01:44:09 - 01:44:12 | Speaker 9:

No, no. That's why we don't let men rap gifts.

01:44:14 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 1:

You know what, though? That could be kind of cute, especially if it's, you know, something fun. No. I don't know.

01:44:20 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 9:

No, it's not attractive either.

01:44:22 - 01:44:30 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome, though. That's a guy's guy right there. I like, by the way, that Tiffany says her husband is not allowed to make the bed. Is he allowed to lay in the bed, though?

01:44:30 - 01:44:36 | Speaker 4:

um yeah but it has to be made first he doesn't understand he says why do we have to make it when

01:44:36 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

we're gonna just lay in it i don't get it chelsea's the same way too she's got to get into the tightest bed ever and i'm like pulling the damn things out it's about setting the atmosphere yeah i don't get it you guys are by the way and then you guys get complain about all the stuff that you have to do and how stressed out you are about it yes you're making the bed before we're going in the bed She won't let me help. I just told you all that stuff.

01:44:58 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Put in actual effort.

01:44:59 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

I try.

01:45:00 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 2:

I've tried. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. The next topic that we're going to do might be the cutest thing ever. I told Lydia, whenever Zach turns in a topic.

01:45:11 - 01:45:14 | Speaker 3:

I love seeing that email from him.

01:45:14 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 2:

I get so excited over it because those listeners that check this show out, Zach has thanked me 8,000 times for him being up on stage with us at Jingle Ball, not understanding that we thank Zach for the fact that this guy does more crap for all of us I mean he makes our lives all so much better. He saved my ass at Jingle Ball. He's the best and you're such a part of this team Zach I will tell you that. You know who you are? Who? Who's the Lions lineman that's got a touchdown on Sunday? Skipper. Yeah you're Dan Skipper.

01:45:48 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 4:

You're our Dan Skipper. Checking in. Checking in. Checking into the game right now.

01:45:53 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 2:

We love you, Zach. Without you, honestly, we're not a complete team. Thank you. And this is going to be one of those topics. I want you to listen to this thing. And I want you to listen and thinking about how negative the world is and how negative some people can be. And I want you to, when you have somebody that is going through a tough time, I want you to think of Zach because Zach will make you have a smile on your face. Zach, what's going on? What did you want to talk about this morning? I love you guys. We love you. He, by the way, my favorite is when he calls me up at home. Chelsea laughs because he'll go, I love you, boss.

01:46:29 - 01:47:36 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, the winter is not my favorite. I went through, I have a lot of like death period, you know, just a lot of people that passed away during the wintertime. And I like to reflect on the year. And I went through like a struggle last week where I thought to myself, I'm not doing that much. Like, what are my next goals? what what's next in 2025 but before i think about 2025 i have to think about my goals that i accomplished this year and guys this was probably the best year of my life i uh i mean not just me but like as a show we also killed it but me personally like i got a car i moved out yeah i saved some money like i got full time i have uh like health benefits it's great let's go let's go but like as a show like we had a live podcast we did i got to be on stage for jingle ball i got to take a picture with jason derulo like i got to ring the bell at the red wings game yeah like this is our year and it's only going to get better from here

01:47:36 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

buddy i gotta tell you what you turning that topic in yesterday is a reflect to me it was a lesson for me because to me all I want to do is get through the next week so I can sleep in a little bit yeah for sure and I don't think back to and I don't give thanks for what I have and I

01:47:58 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 3:

think so many times so big right I think so many times I literally had therapy yesterday and I was telling my therapist Karen I'm like I'm not feeling very merry this year like right now it doesn't feel like christmas it doesn't and i'm like and i feel like i i and it's a really bad thing to fall into i feel like i'm doing a lot of comparing right now comparing for things that i don't have or haven't done or don't do good enough and when you sent that topic and she said this to me yesterday during my session she's like but look at all of the things you have done and you should be grateful for and that you do have and i think this time of year this is the perfect opportunity Zach and I'm so happy you brought it up for all of us to like sit and go my gosh like there are some really amazing things that are happening or have happened in 2024 for Zach bro and I'm gonna

01:48:49 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 1:

tell you you go extremely hard yeah and you take no days off you're there for everybody at every single time and you put everybody above yourself and I think the reason why you're experiencing this period of immense blessing is because of the sacrifice that you've made and i seen a quote one time where it said in order to get to greatness you have to cross the road of sacrifice and you sacrifice so much bro which is why you winning it's your season bro yes how do you memorize all

01:49:21 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 2:

these quotes i know he's so good and you you you have you've accomplished a ton you have you kept

01:49:28 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 3:

first off you got married you got married i know i blended two families man and and you have two

01:49:35 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

kids that are healthy yeah and that's that's a huge blessing and you're healthy yeah that's a big one for you yeah that's that was a big one this year zach you have no idea like how as a show if we don't have you and this is more than just you you do all the audio and producing and all that rest of that stuff and podcasting and all that stuff it's the driving into work and being miserable on a day when the

01:50:00 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 4:

weather sucks or whatever the deal is or you're got a you know you got a lot on your plate but when we walk through the door and you're like hi bestie yeah you have no idea you have no idea how that you're the guy that is literally when we come to the bench or we go out on the field together i know zach is going to block for us and i know that if you carry the ball you're going to hold on to that damn thing yeah i'm not fumbling it not fumbling jennifer what's up you wanted to

01:50:27 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 3:

make comment yes I just wanted to tell Zach how much I love him I love you thank you you're the best Zach I love hearing you on the radio every time like you get a chance to do a topic it's the absolute best like I just love you can hear his smile you know when you're listening on the radio like you can I just love it you make me happy you've written my page I appreciate you

01:50:55 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much. And you know what? He's going to make you reflect, too, on your year and reflect on the good things. Sometimes we just focus on the bad things. If you reflect on the good things, I really do believe it becomes contagious. What's up, Angie?

01:51:08 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning, everybody. Morning. Love you all. We love you. But I really want to say how much I love Zach and the gratitude that just exudes from him and his emotions. He's pretty raw when he brings topics. But I have the best year ever for everybody. Welcome, Kevin, Shannon, and the marriage and the new family. Mojo and the empty nest. Yeah. Everything is just great this year.

01:51:37 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, listen, everybody's, Megan and how freaking awesome she looks. Oh, the weight loss. Seriously.

01:51:43 - 01:51:46 | Speaker 2:

The beauty to see a huge, yes.

01:51:46 - 01:51:59 | Speaker 4:

KP and the accomplishments of all our social posts and everything that she's done with that. She's had 12 apartments this year that are amazing. She's gone on some great dates with guys, and who knows?

01:52:00 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 2:

And Lydia is just killing it. Lydia is killing it.

01:52:03 - 01:52:40 | Speaker 4:

Breaking and entering Christmas wishes have been on fire. She saw Taylor Swift 8,000 times. It's the era. Seriously, everybody's had great things happen. And honestly, guys, we are blessed that, and I said this before, even if one person is going through a tough time and something that we have done as a show is given them the opportunity to take that off of their plate for a moment, that right there is the biggest, that's more accomplishment than any ratings that we could ever get. What's up, Katie?

01:52:42 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. You guys have been my favorite radio station for 15 years.

01:52:47 - 01:52:47 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:52:47 - 01:53:38 | Speaker 1:

And I just want to congratulate Zach because it is so, the first time getting insurance, the first time having that, you know, job where you can be proud. We lost our daughter this year, and I switched jobs for the same reason. You know, Zach, what was I doing? Was I giving back? And my husband and I both, it's been as hard of a year as it's been. It's been amazing. and all the bad things that have happened to you, Zach, and anyone are not because you've earned them. Bad things just happen. But we make the choice to make our lives better because of them. And you have worked really hard, and that's really amazing. Thank you. And you've got to keep your head up to you. And you guys are, yeah. This whole radio station makes every day better.

01:53:38 - 01:53:53 | Speaker 4:

Katie, this call right here is everything. i couldn't imagine losing a child i just can't imagine that and the fact that you have the strength to call up and thank another person and tell him hey i'm proud of you that's pretty awesome

01:53:53 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 1:

yeah it's um i i will finish with a paraphrase of a quote and it is we need to spread kindness like it is the biggest commodity we have and like it is the hardest thing to do because kindness is hard and you all do it very well. So thank you.

01:54:16 - 01:54:17 | Speaker 4:

Katie, what's your daughter's name?

01:54:19 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 1:

Her name is Miriam Eleanor. Oh my goodness, that name is beautiful.

01:54:23 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 4:

She's with us. We love you.

01:54:26 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 1:

Thank you all and have a wonderful holiday season.

01:54:29 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 4:

You too. You too. We'll be thinking of you.

01:54:31 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 1:

thank you

01:54:33 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 4:

alright give us a second to kind of regroup and find some Kleenex and we'll be back with Shannon's Dirty alright we're going to give you tickets to see Nelly and Ja Rule now that's a throwback throwdown show coming to Pine Knob later this summer 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665 665

01:54:59 - 01:55:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:55:00 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 3:

548-844-MOJO-LIVE. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Do me a favor. Listen up. Shannon's got some stuff that she's going to tell you that will be things that you'll be sharing with friends at the office today. What's going on, Shannon?

01:55:16 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 5:

I love that intro when you don't even know what the heck I'm talking about because you're trying to pull my audio over.

01:55:21 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 3:

I almost went to a traffic report.

01:55:22 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 5:

But thank you. Okay. Okay, so Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery is out for the rest of the season after sustaining a sprained MCL during Sunday's loss to the Bills. Yeah, so he's going to undergo additional testing on his knee. He is going to get a second opinion, but, I mean, he's not good. Dan Campbell said it looks like he is going to require surgery. That will put him out for the rest of the year. And he is only one of several key players who were injured Sunday, including several important defensive players. Lions starting defensive tackle McNeil sustained a torn— Oh, my God, I cannot talk.

01:55:53 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 3:

That honestly is as bad as Aiden Hutchinson and Alex Anzalone.

01:55:57 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 5:

His season's over. Starting cornerback Carlton Davis III sustained a fractured jaw. He is about to undergo surgery for that and be sidelined indefinitely. And then Khalil Dorsey had that season-ending ankle injury that we talked about. He underwent surgery after the game.

01:56:14 - 01:56:43 | Speaker 3:

Can I ask a quick question? I know you're going to play a Dan Campbell clip, which is good. Do they have to look at, and I know football is a dangerous sport, But if you look at the injuries and the amount of injuries that they've had compared to other teams in the NFL, do they have to look at their training staff and doctors and stuff and wonder why it is? Like, why are we – I mean, I know that we're definitely a more aggressive team than any other team. What is the reasoning of why so many players are getting injured?

01:56:43 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 4:

I'm not going to act like I am one of the players who speaks about this all the time. But the thing we hear from players all of the time is the turf. Yeah, the artificial turf. Do you think it's the turf?

01:56:52 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 3:

But I think that there's... Not in these situations.

01:56:55 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 4:

The knees, the ankles and stuff could be the cleats and the turf. The jaw is the only one that I think throws it off. And to me, I hope to God he does not have to get his jaw wired shut because, wow, that is the worst experience in the entire world.

01:57:10 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. Go back to Shannon. I'm sorry.

01:57:12 - 01:57:16 | Speaker 5:

This guy, Dan Campbell talking about bouncing back and gearing up for this Sunday's game against the Bears.

01:57:16 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 2:

Then we're going to burn it, and then we're moving on. So we'll bounce back from this. sometimes you got to get punched in the face before you know how to respond. And so I think this is good for us.

01:57:27 - 01:57:32 | Speaker 3:

Bro, we ain't getting punched in the face. We getting shot in the face. I just want to say that.

01:57:34 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 5:

There was another terrible school shooting yesterday. I heard about this on my way home. I know. I was just looking at you like, why did you say that?

01:57:42 - 01:57:45 | Speaker 3:

Shannon's like, I got a story to do next.

01:57:45 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 5:

I wish I could move stuff around right now, but it's already in the system, so I can't. But so this was Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, and this was a female shooter who went to that school. Listen to this.

01:58:01 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 1:

10.57 a.m., a second grade student called 911 to report a shooting had occurred at school. Don't let that soak in for a minute.

01:58:12 - 01:58:17 | Speaker 5:

Shooter opened fire in a mixed grade study hall. She was named by officials late last night.

01:58:18 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 1:

The shooter has now been identified as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, who went by the name Samantha. She was a student at the school, and evidence suggests she died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

01:58:34 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 5:

She killed a teacher, another student, and herself, two others, are fighting for their lives in a local hospital. There is a manifesto that was going around on social media I had heard. I have not seen it. police say they have not been able to verify that it is authentic. Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham, shooting down the rumors that she's had some work done, specifically a nose job.

01:58:57 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 4:

Homegirl.

01:58:58 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 5:

I like to draw.

01:58:59 - 01:59:23 | Speaker 4:

I have to say there's been a lot of people in the past that have said to me that I've had some kind of surgery on my nose. I have never, ever, ever, ever read anything. No, never. Okay, maybe I get the nose job thing. Yeah. Don't pretend like you're avoiding the plastic surgery conversation by saying, I've never had anything done to my nose, girl. Give us the details. You look great.

01:59:23 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I mean, look at, I still think the biggest glow up of the year is Lindsay Lohan.

01:59:27 - 01:59:32 | Speaker 4:

I want to know what Lindsay did. And a lot of the rumors. Hers is all Dubai. Oh, you say so?

01:59:32 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 5:

There's a doctor in Dubai. Yes.

01:59:33 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 4:

I want to know what Cher did. I want to look like Cher when I'm in my late 80s. Like, give me the details.

01:59:39 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 5:

I want to look like Demi Moore. Yes. At 60. Yes. Please, God. I already don't look like her and I'm 41 so I think it's too late but I got the I got the

01:59:48 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

sweetest dm from a listener that thanked me for talking about being on monjourno that I'm taking the weight loss shot because of they wanted to know like how I lost weight and they said thank

02:00:00 - 02:00:15 | Speaker 4:

you for being you know transparent about that and i'll be honest it's everybody's own personal story but i will tell you that if anything it saves you you know saves a life those plastic surgery things are totally different one though like doesn't it's plastic i think if i had plastic

02:00:15 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 2:

surgery i wouldn't tell anybody i don't know oh i tell everybody people for the most part unless it's like a little tweak they know yeah really we know if you got a new nose well wait

02:00:26 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 4:

that you see when I got in store for 2025.

02:00:28 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 2:

I don't feel like the judgment is there like it used to be. Not at all. And I, it's more like, you look amazing. Who did you go to?

02:00:36 - 02:00:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:00:37 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And lastly, Americans are over Christmas traditions. A new study of 2,000 adults who celebrate the holidays found that 31%, that's a pretty good chunk, are bored with the usual Christmas things and would like to see more unique alternatives during the lead up to the big day. And of those bored with this idea, They say a meal switch-up would be an easy one. Pizza, tacos, even Chinese takeout were mentioned as preferred options over the traditional turkey or ham. 47% would prefer to spend Christmas the entire day in their pajamas rather than getting dressed up. 18% like the idea of doing a friends-only Christmas. And 35% would choose to focus on quality time versus gifts or decorations. The top 10 Christmas traditions that Americans would be open to swapping or getting rid of sending Christmas cards, ugly sweater parties, Mojo, you talked about that last week, gift-giving, secret Santa exchanges, listening to Christmas songs, watching Christmas movies, Elf on the Shelf, Christmas lights, holiday baking, and decorating a Christmas tree. And some of the things that Americans would prefer to do instead, take a vacation, go on a quiet solo retreat, spend the day volunteering, giving and receiving DIY gifts only, and swapping gifts for handwritten letters of gratitude.

02:01:56 - 02:02:01 | Speaker 4:

instead. Interesting. Which ones are to you the thing you wish you could give up the most at the holidays?

02:02:02 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 2:

I don't. I'm not doing one this year. I don't love Secret Santa exchanges. White elephant parties? Do you like going to those? I'm going to a white elephant party. Yeah. I mean I'd rather like my friend group were going out on Thursday night and someone was like let's do Secret Santa. Let's do it. I just want to have a great dinner and spend time with you guys and drink.

02:02:24 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 4:

That's what I want to do. A friend of mine invited me to a tequila tree party. The tree is decorated with different tequila shots and people just sit there and drink their shots off. Until you're done.

02:03:08 - 02:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes, there is an Ikea. I love it.

02:03:10 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 4:

Do you ever eat the Swedish meatballs at Ikea?

Yes, I do.

It's going to be fun because it's going to be under the stars at Pine Knob when the weather is way nicer than it's going to be over the next couple of weeks. Okay?

02:03:40 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:03:41 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 4:

Have a great time.

02:03:42 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much. I'm at this show.

02:03:48 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 4:

It sounds like a great show.

02:03:49 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 3:

It's going to be a banger.

02:03:51 - 02:03:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What's your favorite out of the job rule songs?

02:03:55 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 3:

The one with Bobby Brown. Which one is that one? I don't even know that one. Hold on a second. With like Bobby Brown? Yeah, it's called Thug Loving. Whitney's Bobby? Whitney's Bobby. Oh, my God. I don't think I've ever heard that song before. I'm telling you, a banger. It's called Thug Loving.

02:04:15 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 4:

Mine is always on time. I love that song. Classic. With Ashanti. And then my favorite Nelly song of every one of them is the one from the movie, you know, the Shake Your Tail Feather.

02:04:30 - 02:04:35 | Speaker 3:

Oh, from Bad Boys 2. From Bad Boys 2. That's a banger too. Bad Boys 2, the soundtrack. Yeah, okay. Yes, sir.

02:04:36 - 02:04:43 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo on the morning show. Here, I'll play the beginning part of it for you. The beginning. You got me in my bag.

02:04:44 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 3:

That's when we was wearing throwback jerseys to the back. Yeah. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh We're doing it for fun. Everybody chicken hit it. We're doing it for fun. You ain't chicken hit it.

02:05:05 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 4:

I wasn't. The Ad Boys 2, the soundtrack. Murphy Lee. Come here, guys. All right, we're done. We got to move on. I got a topic. I got a topic. Shannon's got a good topic. Am I the A-Hole's coming up here in just a little bit, too. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. So the next topic that Shannon's going to bring up here right now, I want to make sure that we get some people lined up for this. is there anyone listening who is serving divorce papers this Christmas so I met somebody in like

02:05:36 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 1:

I'm are you guys like standing in a massive amount of lines right now I feel like I was in the Abercrombie line for literally 35 minutes so this was not Abercrombie this was actually not even at the mall but anyway um started talking to the person behind me and he mentioned to me that amid all of the craziness and what we were shopping for he hated the Christmas season and when i asked him why he said it was because his ex-wife and the mother of his two kids served him with divorce papers two years ago on christmas eve oh you can't do that on christmas eve and he said it's just it's been tough ever since then last year was terrible and he's like this year i'm not feeling it either it's hard to do it for the kid you know you suck it up for the kids which obviously we're talking about that but i thought that is rotten yeah that is rotten to be served Because for a very long time, he's going to have that yuck feeling on Christmas Eve. You just don't forget that.

02:06:31 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't know anything about the serving divorce papers, but do you have control over when they can get them or can't get them?

02:06:36 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 1:

So when I got divorced, there were no papers served. Like, we just, you know, did everything pretty amicably. But I'm fairly certain, please correct me if I'm wrong, that you know the general vicinity of time that they're going to be served. You may not know the exact. until after the Christmas season. That's exactly what I mean.

02:06:54 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

That's great.

02:06:55 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 1:

Like, I'm pretty sure you can control at least that.

02:06:58 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Anybody have weird feelings around this time of the year because that has happened to them? Or is there anybody, and I don't know if you're willing to share this with us, that is serving divorce papers now? Like, you've already talked to an attorney and you know that they're going to be happening at any moment. I think anything leading up to it, like, I think your cutoff is Thanksgiving week. If you ask for a divorce, Thanksgiving week till at least the 6th of January, until the world comes back from their holidays, you can't do it. I think it should be closed. As a matter of fact, I'm going to put a proclamation in place. And Michigan and Ohio are two listening states. You cannot do this at all. The courts have to shut down.

02:07:39 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 3:

Right? I mean, I think January 6th would be the perfect day. Holy Christ. But it does seem intentional. It seems like I want you to feel this. Oh, 100%. Look at these text messages. All these people that have had this happen to them.

02:07:53 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 4:

All right. That's spitting. Lydia, call these people. Lydia's going to call you guys that have texted in to us. Pick up your phone. That's nuts. And then what would be worse? What would be worse? Getting divorce papers on Christmas or getting divorce papers on your birthday or your child's birthday? What is worse with that one? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Lydia needs a moment she says so let me take a break and we'll come back and we'll take some calls and then we'll do am I the a-hole too right afterwards alright so you got plenty more of it what they are the a-hole that is true are you an a-hole for doing this

02:08:33 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 2:

call us 844-MOJO-LIVE

02:08:36 - 02:08:40 | Speaker 4:

844-665-6548

02:08:40 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 1:

this is Mojo in the morning

02:08:41 - 02:09:13 | Speaker 4:

alright it is Mojo in the morning the worst of worst people are the people who are serving divorce papers at christmas i mean i'm not saying that you shouldn't get divorced hey i don't know your relationship but at very least wait till the end of the holidays to do this thing it's mojo in the morning 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number what's up craig how you doing hey how's it going good man And what's happening with you?

02:09:14 - 02:09:29 | Speaker 2:

So I was just going to say, I mean, if you know you're getting divorced, I don't really think a holiday matters when it's happening, but I don't think a holiday matters either way if you don't know you're getting divorced because whenever you're served those papers and you think everything is good, you know?

02:09:30 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So quick question for you. Have you been through a divorce? Have you been through being served? A couple. A couple? Oh, my God. All right. It's time for you to stop. No more. So when were you served?

02:09:42 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

uh you know what we in both of the cases i knew it was going to happen yeah so it was it was kind of just like a mutual thing oh geez okay um i've been i was married for eight years the first time and eight years the second time and i just uh recently married again like

02:10:00 - 02:10:01 | Speaker 5:

But I've been with her for four and a half years.

02:10:02 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 1:

What do you think? You think this one's going to last? I hope so. Yeah. We'll know in four years. It's a four-year plan. All right. Texters here, I don't want to go on the air and speak because it's too hard for me without crying. This is from 419. It says that they were served four Christmases ago, and it was the worst time of their life because it was just during the COVID time, too.

02:10:28 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's awful.

02:10:30 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 1:

Um, what's up, Brittany? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning. What's going on?

02:10:35 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

02:10:36 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on with you?

02:10:39 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, same old, same old.

02:10:41 - 02:10:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:10:41 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 4:

First time, long time, by the way. Hey. What's up, man?

02:10:46 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, this is Brittany.

02:10:48 - 02:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Brittany's on the phone.

02:10:51 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Brittany, were you served papers or did you do the serving?

02:10:55 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 4:

I served them.

02:10:56 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 1:

And when did you serve them?

02:10:57 - 02:10:58 | Unknown:

Never mind.

02:10:58 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 4:

on our eighth anniversary because he was really rotten and then like two days before my lawyer said well we're gonna serve him today and I said could you hold off and do it in two days because

02:11:09 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 2:

it's our anniversary and she said absolutely oh my god you can pick the exact day that was one

02:11:16 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 4:

of my questions well they have to be served like by someone that serves them so no that's what I

02:11:23 - 02:11:27 | Speaker 2:

I know, but you could say, not today. I want you to do it on Tuesday.

02:11:28 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 4:

Well, he was really nasty to my lawyer, too, so she had no problem doing it.

02:11:33 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 1:

Just a nasty guy? Like, when you say nasty, I mean, if he was abusive, yeah, serve him, you know, at any time. But was he just, like, kind of a mean guy because he was struggling through what was going on?

02:11:47 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 4:

No, he's just arrogant, cheater.

02:11:50 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:11:51 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 4:

He's kind of a whole package of crap bags. All right.

02:11:55 - 02:11:58 | Speaker 1:

Well, here you go, crap bag. Happy anniversary.

02:12:00 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 4:

I did get revenge in the end. Yeah, I did ask him what he got me for the anniversary, too. I got called the not very nice word.

02:12:06 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

02:12:07 - 02:12:12 | Speaker 4:

But at the end of the divorce, I was so happy it was finally over because he drug it out really bad.

02:12:13 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:12:13 - 02:12:22 | Speaker 4:

So I wrote, just divorce, ding dong, the dick is gone on my back window. And it wouldn't come off. Oh, I stayed.

02:12:22 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 1:

You had to trade that car in. There's some guy driving around right now with ding-dong and the dick is gone. What's up, Kim? How you doing?

02:12:31 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you this morning?

02:12:33 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 1:

We're doing great. We're talking about serving divorce papers as a Christmas blessing here. What's up?

02:12:40 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 5:

I filed for divorce two years ago, and I wish I would have, but my lawyer was out of town. Served him on his birthday, which was also Thanksgiving.

02:12:52 - 02:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wow. Eat this.

02:12:57 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 5:

He's not a good person. He is a severe narcissist. Controlling, I wanted to have the last straw and serve him.

02:13:07 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's amazing. A lot of women serving their men that are calling us up here. What's up, Kay? How you doing? Got some guys calling. Good morning. What's going on, Kay?

02:13:19 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 4:

First time long.

02:13:25 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 3:

So it wasn't for Christmas, but our final court date to, like, finalize everything after the six months was scheduled for my birthday.

02:13:36 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's a birthday present, huh?

02:13:39 - 02:13:48 | Speaker 3:

Now, I'm the one that's filing, so everything has to go on my terms. So, no, we had to change that. I didn't want to remember this day on my birthday every year for the most of my life.

02:13:48 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 1:

So, yeah, it was wild. That's amazing. You know, at some point, it's like you think, God, you guys at one point were in love with each other. Now you guys are going through just hard times. Jennifer, are you there?

02:14:02 - 02:14:03 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I'm here.

02:14:04 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 1:

Jennifer's was her dad. Your dad served your mom. Tell everybody where your dad served your mom the divorce papers.

02:14:10 - 02:14:36 | Speaker 6:

um actually um i was 14 at the time and um we were getting ready um for my grandpa's funeral my mom's dad had passed away and it was the first day of the of the funeral like showing and um there was a carrier that came and handed for divorce papers okay that trumps christmas to me that's awful as a daughter you do have a choice as a daughter could you could you ever look at

02:14:36 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 1:

him again with respect knowing he did that to your mom no that's tough especially because then

02:14:43 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 6:

i went through a divorce about six years ago and i had a choice like i had a choice to either serve him myself um have someone do it like when i could do it where if i wanted it to be done served him at work at home wherever so you do have what did you choose

02:14:58 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 1:

Let's go.

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 2:

I chose to serve him myself.

02:15:01 - 02:15:07 | Speaker 5:

Okay. You know what? That's respectful. Yeah. If you got the strength to be able to do it. Are you doing good?

02:15:08 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. I'm doing better. But, I mean, that was a long time ago when my dad, yeah, served my mom. But it was an awful experience to stand there and watch your mom be served divorce papers. I was older than you know.

02:15:19 - 02:15:27 | Speaker 5:

At grandpa's funeral. Hold on. Jess wants to be voice disguised. Hey, Jess, what's going on? Hello. Are you there, Jess?

02:15:28 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

02:15:28 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 5:

We're voice disguising you. What's going on?

02:15:32 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 6:

So, my ex-co-worker served her husband for divorce, Taylor. And, oh, my God, I could talk on Father's Day.

02:15:43 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

02:15:45 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 6:

This year.

02:15:46 - 02:15:50 | Speaker 5:

Wow. Y'all got to relax. How many kids do they have together?

02:15:52 - 02:15:53 | Speaker 6:

Two or three.

02:15:53 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 5:

Was he with his kids at the time? Because if that was the case, that's really bad.

02:15:59 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 6:

I don't know the whole story, but I'm going to guess so, honestly.

02:16:04 - 02:16:12 | Speaker 5:

That's brutal. That is so – is she like a vindictive person, or did she have –

02:16:12 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 6:

Kind of. I mean, I wasn't that close to her when I worked with her, but the fact that she got with a co-worker after.

02:16:19 - 02:16:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, she got with a co-worker. Oh, my God. That's bad. Those are one of the ones where you do something like that, I feel like karma is going to come back and bite you in the ass. You know, you're going to, you get your just desserts. One last one. Brian, are you there?

02:16:35 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? How you doing, buddy? Love you guys. Love you guys to death. We love you too.

02:16:42 - 02:16:43 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what's happening?

02:16:43 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 4:

So my first ex-wife, notice I said first. I'm on number three now, but this one's forever. I've lost half my stuff twice. I got nothing left, so I can't mess this one up. My first ex-wife had her best friend dress up really sexy and bring this gift bag to my work. I worked third shift, and my boss grabbed it, and he said, hey, this beautiful girl just dropped this off for you. And I got digging through it, and then the bottom of it was an envelope, and inside the envelope was divorce papers. So I'm like, my boss is like, what's the matter? her. I said, Oh, that, that bag had divorce papers in it. But what she didn't know is because she didn't personally hand them to me. I made her have her, I made her resend that or re-serve me because you know, I was a, I was an a-hole back then. Let's, you know, I'm, but, uh, yeah, because she didn't, she didn't hand it. She gave them to my boss and my boss gave me the gift bag. The papers weren't actually served to me. So, so she had to go about it and hire a process server and then have him have me served oh my god brian let

02:17:54 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 5:

me ask you a question being divorced three times you said so no two times my third marriage now so whenever you see a guy walking suspiciously with an envelope in his hand do you ever sit there and worry that the third wife is going to do it again yeah don't open it don't give me that

02:18:10 - 02:18:22 | Speaker 4:

envelope i don't want it no this one this one's forever mojo i was an a-hole back then a complete a-hole. I've come completely around, and this one's forever. I'm not going to mess this one up.

02:18:22 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we believe you.

02:18:24 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 4:

I lost half my stuff twice. I got nothing left, man. I'd be out on the street. I'd be living with Kev.

02:18:31 - 02:18:32 | Unknown:

Kev has a

02:18:32 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 6:

place. Oh, my God.

02:18:36 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, can you imagine? Who's that guy? That's Brian.

02:18:40 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 4:

I'm just laughing. You got an extra room, don't you, Kev?

02:18:44 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 5:

As long as your ex-wife, sexy best friend, come through. You can come too.

02:18:49 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 1:

Men are good. Some men are good for nothing. Another War of the Roses happens in minutes.

02:18:54 - 02:18:56 | Speaker 6:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:57 - 02:19:24 | Speaker 5:

02:19:24 - 02:19:42 | Speaker 3:

should I break up with my girlfriend before or after Christmas because she brought me a gift and told me about it but I wanted to break up with her so now I gotta wait or should I wait should I just break up with her anyway or should I get her a gift and then break up with her

02:19:42 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 5:

wow He sounds

02:19:46 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 6:

Exasperated by his decision

02:19:48 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 5:

Okay so He's wondering if he should break Is he an a-hole for sticking around It sounds like just to get the gift What are your thoughts on this one 844 Mojo Live

02:20:00 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 1:

844-665-6548 is our telephone number. You want to meet him?

02:20:04 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, why not?

02:20:05 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 1:

Mr. Romance here. Troy is on with us. Hi, Troy.

02:20:09 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. How's it going? What's up, Troy?

02:20:11 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 1:

Troy, I know you want to be as discreet as possible, but is it a good gift? Is it a good enough gift?

02:20:19 - 02:20:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I mean, it's a gift that I have to maybe consider. You know what I'm saying? It's really thoughtful. It's really thoughtful.

02:20:28 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 1:

But first off, why do you want to break up with her? What's the reasoning? Is it just not working out?

02:20:35 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 5:

It's been a couple of years. I'm just tired of her. We always fight. You know, it's even, and also not to be blunt, but, you know, in the bedroom, you know, the spark's gone. So it's time to move on, you know?

02:20:51 - 02:21:20 | Speaker 1:

So, but not time to move on so fast because you got a gift coming your way, which also means that you have to buy her a gift too right yeah yeah so does he does he does he wait if his feelings are that he doesn't want to be with her first off i don't think you break up this close like i think if you're within a week yeah and you're within a week right now i don't think that you break up this soon wait real quick troy is she a good gift giver

02:21:20 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 5:

uh i mean it's a really good gift it's really nice you already know what it is yeah yeah it's it's it's uh and it's it's kind of it's kind of putting me on the spot too with

02:21:35 - 02:22:03 | Speaker 1:

the gift so it's it's tough you know he doesn't he doesn't want to say the gift because if he says the gift then it gives him away and he's and he's aliasing it right now with uh the name try i get that um here's here's my thoughts on this one i don't necessarily think you're a bad guy if you stick around till after christmas as long as you get her something of equal value or more i do think breaking up this soon before christmas ruins a person's christmas so if at

02:22:03 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 3:

all you can fake it for a week fake it why not to me that's almost worse though and i feel like a hypocrite because that last topic i was like oh it's terrible that somebody got served divorce papers on Christmas but I'm just always I've always believed that when you know you are going to break up with somebody let them down and don't lead them on let them start to pick up the pieces and move on with their life because if he's gonna break up with her two days after Christmas she's gonna know that he wanted to break up with her before Christmas and then she's still gonna look back on this Christmas and be like well it sucked yeah but it's better than being sad in front of your family on Christmas amen I don't know I would just get really super drunk and watch all of my

02:22:42 - 02:22:56 | Speaker 2:

favorite christmas movies oh no because i don't want to show up and have done before so and i survived i don't want to show up and have all of my aunts and uncles go where is so and so what happened what are they doing this how i because you just have to talk about it i just think it's

02:22:56 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 3:

worse to drag it out when you already know in your heart that you do not want to be with this

02:23:00 - 02:23:24 | Speaker 4:

person anymore hey sierra what do you think well i agree with you guys but then i'm thinking like But she doesn't have any signs, because otherwise, why would she buy him the gift?

02:23:24 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 1:

She's already bought him the gift. She'll know afterwards, obviously. But what do you think, LaBelle?

02:23:30 - 02:23:38 | Speaker 4:

I really am curious to know what the gift is. I was like, that's not even what it is, but it is something that he can purchase for himself.

02:23:38 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 3:

Wouldn't you feel terrible accepting that gift?

02:23:41 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 4:

It's over. It's over. So you might as well go ahead and break up with it.

02:23:43 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Troy, are you going to feel bad, Troy, taking that gift?

02:23:47 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 3:

You said it's nice and heartfelt.

02:23:51 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I'll take it. I'll keep it. But I won't feel bad about it. I mean, it's something I've been asking for for a long time. Yeah, but is it?

02:24:00 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 4:

Why won't you buy it for yourself? Like, why won't you just go ahead and buy it yourself?

02:24:06 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's one of those things where I was looking to buy, but, like, it's out of my price range, so I've always been like, oh, this is something I really want, you know, and I guess she kind of saved up for it.

02:24:18 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 4:

Does she make more money than you?

02:24:22 - 02:24:24 | Speaker 5:

I'd like not to answer that right about now.

02:24:25 - 02:24:30 | Speaker 1:

That's a yes. LaBelle's putting you on the spot.

02:24:30 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 4:

You're an a-hole.

02:24:32 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but LaBelle, isn't breaking up with somebody right before the holidays more of an a-hole? I do think he's an a-hole for taking this gift. But I think breaking up with her before the holidays is more a-hole-y.

02:24:43 - 02:24:50 | Speaker 1:

Taylor, what's up? A-hole-y. A-hole. And not a-hole-y, but a-hole-y. What did you say?

02:24:50 - 02:24:52 | Speaker 3:

For taking the gift or stringing her along?

02:24:53 - 02:24:53 | Speaker 1:

A-hole, a-hole.

02:24:54 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Boom. Dude, first of all, this man, he sounds worse than that last.

02:25:00 - 02:25:16 | Speaker 3:

guy who couldn't even do his math right and i don't like i wouldn't even want to spend the holidays with a guy like this and just like that other caller said if you want something so bad get it yourself why are you relying on somebody else yeah no this man's an a-hole what what is a

02:25:16 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 6:

bigger a-hole thing taylor be honest with us on this doing what he's doing accepting the gift and sparing her feelings until after christmas or breaking up with your girlfriend and cutting her off of all your streaming devices. See, here you go.

02:25:33 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, man.

02:25:36 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 6:

Fleet the fifth.

02:25:37 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 3:

Let's should all use the streaming services so you're not on the same level as this guy. Exactly, Kevin.

02:25:44 - 02:25:48 | Speaker 6:

Kendrick, turn the TV off. That's what we're doing. You're better than this. What's up? How you doing, Trent?

02:25:50 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 1:

Good. How about yourself?

02:25:51 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 6:

We're good, Trent. We're doing Am I the A-hole right now. What are your thoughts?

02:25:55 - 02:25:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, first question, is he a frequent listener?

02:25:59 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I believe so. Troy, are you a regular listener to this show?

02:26:02 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 1:

Of course. Then you just got to take Kev's barber's advice. You're an a-hole, bro.

02:26:11 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 6:

That is truth.

02:26:13 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 1:

Cut him off. He had it months ago. He had to do this months ago.

02:26:17 - 02:26:21 | Speaker 6:

He screwed the pooch, man. What's up, Alyssa? Hi. What's going on?

02:26:22 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So I'm actually kind of going through the same type of situation, except i have already ripped my band-aid off and taken care of it okay um me and my husband of the last 10 years actually have been having marital problems for the last month i had planned on waiting until after the holidays well things ended up coming to light and we separated about a week ago unfortunately with situations like this it's kind of just hard to keep things under the rug and it's just better to rip the band-aid off for both holidays hey alissa what came to light what happened um well really we just got into arguments constantly he unfortunately he was kind of unemployed for a long period of time pretty deadbeat type okay and i just couldn't take it anymore so finally with the holidays approaching i was getting overwhelmed and i just kind of came out so he finally moved out about a week ago and even with the holidays coming up and children involved we still had to get it done and over with and sometimes that's for the

02:27:18 - 02:27:37 | Speaker 6:

better okay amen all right thank you for the call i appreciate it uh bethany what's up bethany am i the a-hole right now troy knows what he's getting from his girlfriend as a gift for christmas but he wants to break up with her he's thinking he'll stick around until after he gets that gift what

02:27:37 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 5:

are your thoughts right wanting to break up does not make him an a-hole but him saying that he can't afford that gift, and so he's going to wait until after.

02:27:49 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he turned me on that.

02:27:50 - 02:28:03 | Speaker 5:

Get that from her, take that from her, and then break up with her. I hope that she saw signs that the relationship was ending, so she just lied to him, and he gets nothing on Christmas. Oh.

02:28:05 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:28:05 - 02:28:08 | Speaker 5:

That makes him the a-hole.

02:28:08 - 02:28:17 | Speaker 6:

Open up the box, and it's a middle finger. Wouldn't that not be amazing? All right. Am I the a-hole on Mojo in the Morning?

02:28:18 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 1:

02:28:58 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 6:

We have to say hello. I know that that would be a nice thing to do, say hello. To Olivia, who is in studio with us this morning. She is shadowing us this morning, guys. Are you learning anything, Olivia? Do you have any questions at all that we could answer for you? Are you enjoying your morning today?

02:29:21 - 02:29:27 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I'm so excited to be here. I just like watching everything. I like it. You guys do so amazing, so I love seeing it.

02:29:27 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 6:

She is an Alabama Crimson Tide student. Yes, we're all tied. SEC? Yes. Let me ask you this, though. You got Alabama taking on Michigan in a bowl game this year, like they did last year. will this be their revenge game even though it's kind of like a bowl game that nobody cares about

02:29:46 - 02:29:50 | Speaker 2:

because both teams well it should be michigan wasn't even ranked this year what is this story

02:29:50 - 02:29:57 | Speaker 6:

this is crazy well are you upset that uh the uh the crimson tide did not make it into that playoff

02:29:57 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

i think we deserve not to be in it this year

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 4:

I hate to say it.

02:30:02 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 6:

What is it like going to games there? I hear it's just unbelievable.

02:30:05 - 02:30:10 | Speaker 4:

It is insane. I will say I love Rammer Jammer. I love Rammer Jammer.

02:30:10 - 02:30:16 | Speaker 3:

They have the best food. It's like greasy breakfast food, but it is so good.

02:30:16 - 02:30:18 | Speaker 6:

Have you been there before? You've been down in...

02:30:18 - 02:30:19 | Speaker 4:

No, I meant the song.

02:30:20 - 02:30:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, the song.

02:30:21 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Dixieland Alight? No, the Rammer Jammer song at the end of the game when you win. Rammer Jammer, yellow hammer, give him hell, Alabama.

02:30:29 - 02:30:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I see. I love that song.

02:30:31 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 6:

Is Rammer Jammer, though, it's the name of a restaurant or something there, too?

02:30:33 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 3:

Yes, it's right outside the stadium, and it's, like, a known place there. Like, you have to go if you visit.

02:30:39 - 02:30:44 | Speaker 6:

Okay. All right. Well, nice to have you in here. Shannon's going to do the Dirty on the 30. What do you got, Shannon?

02:30:44 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so listen to this story. The Recording Academy has withdrawn Jaquan's Grammy eligibility for Shaboozy's Bar Song. So the 2025 Song of the Year nominee includes an interpolation. Is that how you say that word? I don't know. Sample?

02:31:02 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 6:

I have no idea.

02:31:03 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 2:

Interpolation? Interpolation? Are you supposed to say that fast? Interpolation? Let's just go. Okay. We all know it came from Tipsy. But initially the song credited Jaquan as a writer, along with Joe Kent and Mark Williams, who took part in that song. However, there was an update posted a couple of days ago that revealed that Jaquan will no longer be considered a songwriter for the Shabuzi song. So he can't get a Grammy. That's ridiculous. Yeah, the writers of Tipsy will now only be eligible for a frickin' certificate if the song wins on February 1st at the Grammys, per the Academy's rules regarding sampled or interpolated. He's using the lyrics. That's what I'm saying.

02:31:48 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 5:

This is just like the Bruno Mars Trinidad James when he did the gold all in my watch, gold all in my chain, and Trinidad got credited for the songwriting.

02:32:00 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 4:

But is it because he wasn't credited for the songwriting on the original track

02:32:04 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 2:

and only for the sample? So the song credited Jaquan, though. Shabuzi's song credits Jaquan, or at least it did initially. So I don't get it. I don't like you. I don't get it. Yeah. President-elect Donald Trump holding a news conference at Mar-a-Lago yesterday. about those drone sightings all over the East Coast.

02:32:25 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 1:

The government knows what is happening. Look, our military knows where they took off from. If it's a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. And for some reason, they don't want to comment. And I think they'd be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.

02:32:51 - 02:33:48 | Speaker 2:

Side story, Bethany Frankel, as in the former Real Housewife of New York, took to TikTok yesterday to comment on this story and that press conference. And she revealed during her live conversation with her followers and details from a conversation with a friend of hers who has, I'm trying to get this right, alleged connections with the Pentagon and NASA. And she said it was a conversation that left her with a pit in her stomach that something is very, very wrong. She said this guy has been messaging her incessantly that he will never forgive himself if he doesn't tell the people that he knows personally that for a month now he's been watching this drone situation. These drones are ours and they could very possibly be sniffing out something very dangerous. And this person, again, who works for the Pentagon and NASA, hinted to Bethany Frankel that areas that coincide with where the drones have been have seen a massive spike in radiation, which I have not seen that anywhere else.

02:33:48 - 02:33:59 | Speaker 6:

I was telling you that a lot of TikTok is saying that there's some kind of a nuclear thing that it deals with. And it's it's trying to sense out where potentially that radiation is.

02:33:59 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 4:

That makes sense, though. So we had a listener, Jason, who called me out when we talked about this earlier in the day. And I was saying that there was a bunch of Facebook pages in Toledo sharing this information that was from New Jersey. And he said, look, I've seen these as well. But Bessie's near Toledo, so that makes a lot of sense.

02:34:15 - 02:34:22 | Speaker 6:

But they're saying that some nuclear thing could have gotten loose, and that's where they're trying to figure out where it is.

02:34:22 - 02:34:23 | Speaker 4:

Because that's what Bessie is, nuclear.

02:34:23 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, but that's what I'm saying.

02:34:25 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 2:

But then why not just say that?

02:34:27 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 6:

Well, because they don't want to panic people. But people are already panicking. Here's the part that to me is the most insane. if you got the incumbent president the guy's going to be president in two weeks right or less than that's what i'm saying he gonna tell us how is he not being informed like when you somebody wins an election why are why would the current people not be telling the soon to be maybe because they

02:34:50 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 5:

still trying to keep it under wraps they know he gonna say something but isn't that what the 20th

02:34:54 - 02:34:58 | Speaker 6:

is for but either way it's like you would think that you guys would be working that's what i'm

02:34:58 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 5:

saying they probably don't want him I'm sorry.

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 3:

spill the beans but like you said he about to be in office and he gonna tell yeah and lastly this

02:35:05 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 1:

is getting weird to me that this luigi manzioni the guy accused of suiting united healthcare ceo brian thompson women are obsessed with him in love with him to the point where they're getting tattoos of him on their bodies as a tribute on their wrists arms thighs even ankles and i've seen these images pop up on social media showing off art honoring, excuse me, Luigi. One I saw has like a open heart and there's an image of him inside that tattooed with the phrase, I heart my boyfriend. Another image shared on Instagram showed an etching of his face alongside delay, deny and defend the main words on those on those bullet casings. I mean, just very strange that people are putting his face permanently on their bodies.

02:35:56 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 3:

Didn't Charles Manson get married in jail? Isn't this pretty normal behavior?

02:36:01 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 5:

I don't think it's... No. You think that's normal? It's not normal.

02:36:04 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay, not normal, but not the first time. It's not uncommon.

02:36:08 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 5:

Not uncommon. Jesus Christ, the three of you. There's a lot of people that like to... I'm not having your bag no more. It's over.

02:36:16 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 1:

02:36:54 - 02:37:00 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:37:01 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 5:

Mackenzie. Mackenzie. Hi. Hi. You think your fiancé is cheating on you?

02:37:08 - 02:37:09 | Speaker 4:

Um, yeah.

02:37:10 - 02:37:11 | Speaker 5:

Why do you think that?

02:37:14 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 4:

Um, well, I've known him since college. You know, really, we're best friends and everything. and it's just things have been really weird recently he's just acting a lot different than

02:37:25 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 5:

he used to at least he's kind of changing how he is with you or he's spending less time with you

02:37:32 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 4:

what is it yeah he's different like when we were at school um he's he was kind of an introvert you know he's a really smart guy and everything but now he definitely goes out a lot more which is like that's great like it's cool for him um is he going out with you yeah or no well um yeah we go out i mean like we have fun and everything but like but that doesn't that doesn't

02:38:00 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 5:

worry you though is that worry you more that he's going out with other people i don't know i'm like

02:38:05 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 4:

i'm kind of conflicted about it all because i don't know he doesn't really text me when he goes out with his friends he doesn't tell me when he's coming home or anything and he's always hung over nowadays and did he used to do those things is that a big change in behavior no that's the thing yeah he hasn't he's never used to do this stuff like this is not his not what he was like in college and he's always felt really insecure because like he knows that he didn't have like the typical college experience and so he's doing that now i guess but it just it doesn't make

02:38:36 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 3:

doesn't make sense not really who he is isn't this sometimes some just like what happens with young people you kind of freak out you feel like you missed out on stuff i know that i didn't have the normal college experience and i definitely went through this phase of like oh i gotta catch

02:38:51 - 02:38:56 | Speaker 5:

up because i missed out and he's about to get married too yeah when are you guys supposed to

02:38:56 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 4:

02:39:45 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 4:

are you sure you want to do this uh yeah i i do i really do okay mute your phone

02:39:53 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

02:40:00 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hi, is this Parker? It is. Hi, Parker. My name is Nicole. I'm calling you from a brand new online floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you have like 30 seconds to answer two survey questions in exchange for a dozen long-stemmed red roses?

02:40:30 - 02:40:37 | Speaker 4:

not going to cost you anything uh i i only caught like half of that so you need me to

02:40:37 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 1:

i don't i don't understand so we're a new company just trying to this is basically a marketing technique for us we're trying to get our name out there so we're offering a free dozen roses in exchange for you to answer two survey questions about your floral buying habits

02:40:52 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 3:

okay yeah as long as i don't have to give like any credit card information or anything like that

02:40:58 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 1:

Nope, nothing like that. Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Parker?

02:41:05 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I think.

02:41:07 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:41:11 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, probably.

02:41:13 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay. As a thank you for participating in that rosesbloom.com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with that dozen long-stemmed red roses. They will go out later on this afternoon. and I'm going to go ahead and get a first and a last name of who you want these to go to, okay? And then I'll get some more information after that.

02:41:32 - 02:41:32 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:41:34 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 1:

Do you have a first and a last name?

02:41:37 - 02:41:38 | Speaker 4:

Sure, it's Olivia.

02:41:41 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And what's her telephone number? five six two okay uh can you say that one more time okay and what's her relationship to you uh i i work with her okay and just confirming that red roses is okay i can i can change it slightly okay awesome um and parker we do something unique at rosesbloom.com and instead of sending a card with the flowers we let you record a digital voice note so basically what's going to happen is olivia is going to get a text message alerting her she has a delivery and then she'll be able to play this voice memo instead of reading a card so i'm going to go ahead and record that with you i'm going to count you down and you can say whatever you want okay

02:42:38 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 4:

okay three two one hey thank you for being my mentor

02:42:48 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 1:

okay is that it she'll recognize your voice parker i'm sorry she'll recognize your voice i just want to make sure

02:43:09 - 02:43:12 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she should, but you could also put my name.

02:43:13 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Okay. I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:43:20 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, sure.

02:43:22 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 2:

Great. Parker, I'm going to jump on just to wrap up this call, and then we'll send those flowers off. I just need to tell you one last thing. While we have been talking to you and you sent flowers off to Olivia, your fiancee, Mackenzie, has been listening in and just heard you send another woman flowers.

02:43:48 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm so confused. Why are you sending another girl flowers? We're going to get married.

02:43:53 - 02:44:00 | Speaker 5:

uh i'm confused about what's going on right now a little bit to be honest i i thought

02:44:00 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 2:

hold on let me let me explain then real quick parker mckenzie contacted us because she was not feeling comfortable with your guys's relationship and she wanted to see who you would send flowers to hoping that you'd send them to her but you sent them to another woman And although I don't think it sounds like your relationship with this other woman is anything romantic. It sounds like it's, is she a work person or somebody that you work with?

02:44:36 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:44:38 - 02:44:42 | Speaker 2:

Is it somebody that you have more than a work relationship with?

02:44:45 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 5:

No, not at all.

02:44:47 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 1:

Are you spending time with her? like after hours no i'm not so why then would you choose to send flower to somebody that you work with as opposed to the girl that you're getting married to here in just a couple of weeks?

02:45:07 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 4:

Because she's helped me since I started there and they're free flowers.

02:45:13 - 02:45:15 | Speaker 6:

That sounds like a bunch of bulls**t.

02:45:16 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 2:

Parker, I kind of get that it's not a romance. I feel like it's not. I mean, you're talking about mentoring and stuff. I don't know if I'd tell somebody

02:45:26 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 1:

I'm fooling around with. I'm not sending flowers to somebody

02:45:29 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 2:

But he is sending, he did say it was free, and he's just giving away something free.

02:45:34 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 1:

And if he was with her, wouldn't he be, like, flirting in the message? I feel like this is just kind of sorry, but, like, dumb guy syndrome. Like, I got something free. I need a thank you. This is perfect.

02:45:48 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 2:

Parker, has there ever been anything between you and Olivia, who you just sent the flowers to?

02:45:56 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not.

02:45:59 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 2:

You get the idea, though, that you understand Mackenzie's not feeling real comfortable right now? Or do you not understand that?

02:46:08 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I understand it, but this is just how Mackenzie is.

02:46:12 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean by that?

02:46:14 - 02:46:17 | Speaker 4:

She's like this. She's a jealous type of person.

02:46:19 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 2:

So she gets jealous with your relationships with other women?

02:46:24 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't have relationships with other women. I work with this person.

02:46:29 - 02:46:32 | Speaker 2:

No, I understand that, but has she been jealous before?

02:46:32 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 1:

You said she's jealous, yeah.

02:46:34 - 02:46:38 | Speaker 4:

Yes, she has, but not of anything that was worth being jealous of.

02:46:40 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Why don't we let you guys talk more, and let's ask the question, is it inappropriate to send flowers to another woman, even if the other woman is somebody that you call the mentor?

02:46:54 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 4:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. WKQI Detroit

02:47:00 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 2:

WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo This is Mojo in the Morning

02:47:06 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing

02:47:08 - 02:47:47 | Speaker 2:

Live Mojo in the Morning Where are the roses that you just heard? sent flowers obviously to another woman but did his reasoning for sending the flowers add up to cheating 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 they're going to get some time talking to each other we'll check back in just a second Danielle, are you there?

02:47:48 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 5:

yeah, hi

02:47:49 - 02:47:51 | Speaker 2:

what do you think?

02:47:52 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 5:

well, so I want to start by saying I am never one to defend the man in almost any situation.

02:47:59 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 2:

Oh, by the way, that is so hard for you to say when you've got the beautiful men on this radio show, Kevin, Mojo, Zach, all listening. It hurt my heart. Say what you got to say with your chest.

02:48:11 - 02:48:23 | Speaker 6:

Say what you got to say with your chest. For once, I actually believe him. Now, I don't blame her for being uncomfortable with it, but I do believe that it wasn't anything, you know.

02:48:23 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that it was something.

02:48:25 - 02:48:27 | Speaker 6:

For once, I actually believed the man.

02:48:27 - 02:48:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it was mentory. Are you talking about men? You don't believe men in the War of the Roses? Not in general, right?

02:48:32 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah.

02:48:33 - 02:48:37 | Speaker 2:

Okay, good. Sure, sure, sure, sure. I'm just making sure. Nate, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Your thoughts?

02:48:39 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 3:

I don't think he's cheating. It sounds like his girlfriend is the jealous type. She went to a bad psychic, and now she's just rolling off feeling because of her horoscope or something. Okay.

02:48:49 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 1:

Her chakra's not a line.

02:48:54 - 02:48:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I think, though, that the change in his demeanor is probably adding to this.

02:49:00 - 02:49:01 | Speaker 1:

You've got me.

02:49:02 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 3:

That's why I said what I said. I'd be mad, too, though. I'd be mad, too, if your girlfriend was always, you know, my old lady was always on my butt about cheating and whatnot. I'd be pretty mad if I got prank called on the radio.

02:49:14 - 02:49:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. By the way, the old lady came out. Not a prank call. I love it. By the way, well, I think that the interesting part of her saying he's changed his demeanor, he's now going out, he's hungover all the time. Like, this is something that you're like, I've never seen this out of this guy. We're getting ready to get married.

02:49:28 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 1:

Three weeks before we're getting married, that would throw me off, too. Right.

02:49:33 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 2:

Janelle.

02:49:35 - 02:49:36 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:49:36 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 5:

First time caller, long time listener. Hey, Janelle's on the phone.

02:49:41 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 6:

Woo!

02:49:42 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 2:

And it's with War of the Roses. How great is that? What's going on?

02:49:47 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 6:

Thank you so much. I think that he was just off. He didn't, he wasn't listening fully.

02:49:53 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 2:

You would say that again. Your phone has got a little digital problem there. What did you say? You think he's getting off? What did you say?

02:50:00 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 9:

I think he was lying.

02:50:01 - 02:50:02 | Speaker 3:

You think he was lying?

02:50:02 - 02:50:03 | Speaker 9:

I think he got tipped off.

02:50:03 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 3:

He was tipped off. Boy, you're the first on that one. Usually when people think that they knew who we were, they right away just start blowing up our text chat line at 95500. You're the first.

02:50:16 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 4:

Or if he was tipped off, why wouldn't he then send him to the fiance? Like, why still put yourself in a situation to make things complicated? For me, it's that voice memo that totally kind of saves him.

02:50:27 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Thanks for being my mentor.

02:50:28 - 02:50:48 | Speaker 9:

Where I think that he, it was halfway through when he realized it. I think that because he said he didn't hear what she said. Could you repeat it? And I think at that point, and the way he just responded was so cold and rude. It wasn't even mad. It was like, I've been busted. How am I going to fix this real fast? Okay. I don't know. Okay.

02:50:48 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. That was an interesting thought that he could have in the middle of the call realized, uh-oh, this is not good. What's up, Brandy?

02:50:57 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I think it would be interesting to see where they were because I have worked a long time with some members of the opposite sex, and I don't know their phone number like the back of my hand like that. He knew that phone number way too fast. He was way too comfortable giving it twice. Like, I just don't believe him either.

02:51:20 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 3:

I could see. Yeah, that was quick. Usually they have to go look for it or they don't understand why we're asking for their phone number because they get so taken back by the fact that they feel like they're giving out somebody else's personal info. Real quick, I want to go back to Mackenzie and Parker who are on hold. And Mackenzie, do you feel like what he did was inappropriate by doing the whole mentor thing?

02:51:46 - 02:52:00 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. I'm just in shock that he's not more worried about how I feel about this. I don't want him sending flowers to any other person but me. I don't care who it is.

02:52:03 - 02:52:04 | Speaker 4:

I get that.

02:52:04 - 02:52:11 | Speaker 3:

What about you, Parker? Do you see anything inappropriate with what you did?

02:52:12 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 6:

No, I personally don't. I didn't spend any money, and I've talked to. This isn't a hidden person. Mackenzie knows about Olivia. I've given her praise before because she's helped me so much. So, no, I don't see this as inappropriate at all, to be honest.

02:52:28 - 02:53:01 | Speaker 1:

I think the timing is just bad because you guys are just about to get married. And obviously, like, you want to be all about each other here. But I think there is something to what Mackenzie said of it does make me a little nervous that you kind of don't, you're not acknowledging and validating that she, that these sorts of things make her uncomfortable. Even if there was nothing going on, and to be honest with you, I kind of believe you there, but she feels a certain way about it, and you're kind of just, like, blowing it off.

02:53:02 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 6:

I do understand, but with the understanding, there also comes a level of, hey, I don't think this is, you know, I don't think I did anything wrong, and I'm going to be honest about that. There you go.

02:53:15 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm with him. There's only someone that you can validate. Somebody's crazy. But he didn't even acknowledge that it's... Because this ain't the first time this happened.

02:53:23 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 1:

But you're both right. You're both right.

02:53:26 - 02:53:34 | Speaker 3:

I, like, validate somebody's crazy. For real, man. Yeah. Fred, what are your thoughts on this one? War of the Roses?

02:53:35 - 02:53:37 | Speaker 5:

First off, good morning, everybody.

02:53:37 - 02:53:39 | Speaker 3:

Morning. Good morning. Good morning. Thank you, Fred.

02:53:40 - 02:54:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this is the original Fred, Kev. What's going on? But anyway... Oh, geez, Fred. Little baby is tripping. It's a mentor. They free-flowered, just like he said. Like, she's just looking for a reason for him to be cheating. And I look at it, buddy, better get up and run because that, yeah, just run.

02:54:01 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Well, I still think it was dumb of him, but I get where you're coming from.

02:54:06 - 02:54:10 | Speaker 3:

I feel bad saying that, though, and they're getting married in, you know, less than a month.

02:54:11 - 02:54:13 | Speaker 1:

That's what makes this very, very interesting.

02:54:13 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 5:

People, but come on, how many people that got married is getting ready to get married and then, you know, they get all nervous, they're going out, they're drinking more or whatever they might be.

02:54:24 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I was nervous before I got married. I was drinking a bunch, but I wasn't drinking to the point where I was getting hung over all the time. But you do. Maybe he's scared. Maybe this guy, I'll be honest with you, maybe he's stressful at work because he used that as his, this is my mentor, and maybe he's stressful about getting married. marriage ain't no you know joke i mean it is it's the commitment of commitments and sometimes as a guy you feel like uh-oh i don't know man i'm gonna have you know i'm gonna have to be the the supporter to the you know through life i don't know this could be this could be a stressful time for both the him

02:55:00 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 7:

and her and sometimes you see things when you're stressed out uh what's up dan hey how we doing doing good dan war of the roses couple last comments here what's your thoughts

02:55:11 - 02:55:25 | Speaker 2:

yeah i just wanted to say i mean i'm with fred here uh i feel bad for the both of them she's definitely finding a reason to doubt them but i mean why so late for her to to think this i mean

02:55:25 - 02:55:52 | Speaker 7:

well that's the thing i think that there's stress on both sides i think that a lot of times when you're accusatory towards this you start seeing things and it might be your cold feet coming into play right right i think you got to think about that um uh last real quick uh felicia where's uh where is uh felicia at are you there on this line felicia yes what are your thoughts

02:55:52 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 1:

no well i feel like maybe he's having second thoughts because he did mention that she's naturally a jealous and insecure person and here he's getting ready to marry her so he's probably starting to get struck out about what he's getting ready to marry is this going to be his life and also you tell me what guy knows the difference between roses i understand that shannon offered him another option but maybe he doesn't even realize the meaning behind red roses yeah i

02:56:21 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 7:

I know guys that think roses are all red, like that roses are red because of that. So Nakia brings up a really interesting point that not one person is brought up until now. What is that, Nakia?

02:56:33 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 1:

That he said that he's purchased flowers within the last six months.

02:56:36 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:56:37 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 1:

Who are they for?

02:56:39 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 7:

That's a great point. I mean, that's one right there. And I think Shannon uses that as her doorway in to see if they'll send flowers. But when guys usually answer that, it's usually no.

02:56:48 - 02:56:49 | Speaker 6:

I wonder if I should ask.

02:56:50 - 02:56:51 | Speaker 7:

And who did you send them to?

02:56:51 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, like I wonder if I add that in. Then it's more than two questions, but yeah.

02:56:56 - 02:57:01 | Speaker 7:

Nakia, that's a great point. We got to see if Mackenzie can figure that out. War of the Roses.

02:57:02 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 5:

This is the home of the second date update. War of the Roses. The throwback throwdown. And the dirty of the 30. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:57:12 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 4:

This is another Mojo in the Morning holiday shopping safety tip. When you're looking for someone to fight with over the last 50% off item, don't pick the woman who wears the I'm with stupid shirt. We hate for stupid to show up. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:57:26 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning show. Just sitting here in the studio, counting the minutes until our vacation starts. Anybody want to do a fireball shot? Let's get it. Should we do a fireball? Load me up. Load the cannon. Load the cannon. All right. Hold on. Get in here, Lydia. Oh, my God. There's a ton. Oh, we got fireball. And I also have. Come on, Zach. Come on, Lydia. I also have some peach. Some snaps? New Amsterdam. I got peach, I got blackberry, and I got watermelon. I want that fireball. Which one do you want? Fireball? A little fireball. Should I get a little fireball hair going? Let's get it. A little fireball. Zach, what do you want? Do you want vodka or fireball? Fireball. Fireball. Give me some fire. Are we doing that on fire? On fire. On Friday, are we going to do the thing where everybody brings in their drink of choice?

02:58:15 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I have it written down on my to-do list.

02:58:17 - 02:58:23 | Speaker 7:

All right, we got to get our drink of choice hair going. Zach? Shannon, would you like? I don't see Lydia.

02:58:24 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 6:

If I didn't have the craziest day ever and 20 little girls coming to my house after school today, I would.

02:58:28 - 02:58:31 | Speaker 7:

You would? Megan? I have 20 girls coming to my house. Just the guys.

02:58:32 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 6:

Just the guys.

02:58:32 - 02:58:48 | Speaker 3:

I love this. Come on, Lydia. Get in here. Here she goes. And Bianca. Let's go. I'm on fire. I tell her, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, I'm a fireball.

02:58:52 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 7:

What's KP want one? Oh, she probably couldn't hear us. Where is she? She probably in that other studio. Is she? All right, here we go. Here we go, here we go. I got a watermelon. 99 proof. Are you serious? This little shot is 99 proof? We about to be on 100. Let's get it. Really? Here, Zach, open this. I'm not strong enough. No, I got it. Ready? Here we go. Cheers to three more days. Three more days. Three more days.

02:59:18 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 6:

I'm still serious to that.

02:59:22 - 02:59:32 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Oh, that's awful. Is this a sponsor? Because if this is a sponsor, it was delicious.

02:59:32 - 02:59:35 | Speaker 6:

Otherwise, it's horrible. That's not a sponsor.

02:59:36 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 7:

That's not? Where did that come from? All right.

02:59:39 - 02:59:40 | Speaker 6:

Where did you get all those little minis?

02:59:40 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 7:

Uh, I went to, uh, Louie's, uh, store in, in Livonia. The brass mug. Fire at all.

02:59:53 - 02:59:54 | Unknown:

Son of a bitch.

02:59:56 - 02:59:57 | Speaker 7:

Oh, man.

02:59:57 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 6:

Do you know what I've been drinking before bed? And I love it.

03:00:00 - 03:00:11 | Speaker 2:

it so much i feel like a girl i am a grandma bailey's and coffee but it's real and coffee yeah like caffeinated coffee i still go right to sleep it doesn't do a dang thing for me

03:00:11 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 1:

but it's so good my brother's girlfriend makes bailey's really yes makes her own moonshine version yes and she brings it every time she comes over i love it i i shannon i i

03:00:22 - 03:00:31 | Speaker 4:

wanted to drink every single night before i go to bed and i told chelsea i'm worried that that I'm having a problem because I really want to drink. Now that I know that you're drinking, we both have a problem.

03:00:32 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 2:

We're all dead together. Is it bad to me that Bailey's doesn't even count? It's like creamer.

03:00:38 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 4:

Or rum chata. You guys ever do rum chatas?

03:00:41 - 03:00:42 | Speaker 1:

No, it's dairy.

03:00:43 - 03:01:16 | Speaker 4:

Rum, oh, yeah. Comes up the opposite way. A rum chata, this is like, we did a, one year we did a rum chata Christmas where everybody had to come up with their own version of a Christmas drink. based on rum chata it was awesome uh it's mojo in the morning show uh we drink for you so that you don't have to drink just so you know that uh kev just went to the bathroom and he came in here and he's convinced that the bathrooms here at our new iheart studios are spying on us i do serious

03:01:16 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 3:

and this is this is serious i i think we're being watched i think there's a hidden camera in the bathroom and i took a video so i sent it to y'all so if you go in the men's bathroom and you go to the urinal because you got to do a number one if you look up to the left at the most corner place there is a tile that is slightly pushed to the right where did you send it i didn't send it yet let me send it to you okay and i think it's a camera in there damn it why don't you get up and Look, I'm going to have to stand on the urinal. Can't do that. Then what if I break the porcelain? Then it's going to come on my cheek.

03:01:57 - 03:02:01 | Speaker 4:

So you think, can you see like a blinking light or something? Or just a crack of a hole?

03:02:01 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 3:

You can just see darkness in there. But in my mind, why is there one tile in there? I looked at every single tile. Only one tile. Only one tile.

03:02:09 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 4:

And it's the one over the urinal of all places. Could it be that the tile guy screwed something up? Over the urinal? I don't know. Has anybody ever had somebody with a hidden camera secretly film them? You have to tell us, like, what to look for. And if so, where were you? Like, where this secret filming was?

03:02:28 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 2:

The secret filming in the bathrooms is super strange to me. Like, you really want to see me pooping. You would hear these stories all the time. Okay. By the way. I think that's what gets you.

03:02:37 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 4:

I don't get the guys that will put cameras in women's bathrooms to watch them doody. Go to the, yeah, it's. Like, I think women are beautiful, but women taking a spit, eh, not so much.

03:02:52 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 3:

See if it came through.

03:02:53 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 2:

It came through. It came through. Look at that.

03:02:55 - 03:02:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And I got the urinal first so you can see distance. You can see that it's not edited.

03:03:01 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 2:

How did you even notice that?

03:03:02 - 03:03:03 | Speaker 3:

Because I looked at it.

03:03:03 - 03:03:05 | Speaker 2:

That just requires a little tap, tap.

03:03:05 - 03:03:14 | Speaker 3:

It'll go right back in the face. But why that one, though, is my question. Look how tightly fastened the other one surrounding it is. Somebody cut that tile wrong. Yeah, that's a bad tile.

03:03:14 - 03:03:15 | Speaker 1:

I didn't want to go back and recut it.

03:03:15 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 3:

You think so?

03:03:16 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 4:

I hope that's what it is. It does look like, though, if you looked at it just at quick glance, like it could be something.

03:03:23 - 03:03:25 | Speaker 2:

You just have one urinal in there?

03:03:25 - 03:03:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:03:26 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 2:

You've never seen the guy's bathroom? Uh-uh. Why would I go in there? He didn't ask.

03:03:31 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 4:

Out of everything that was done right in this building, that was the most poorly done thing there. The fact that we have one spitter and one urinal, and we got all these people that are in here. I keep thinking to myself, when they had that party during Jingle Ball.

03:03:46 - 03:03:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. There was probably a line for the urinal.

03:03:48 - 03:04:10 | Speaker 4:

It was like going to see the women's restroom at an arena, you know? It was crazy. Text her here, 95500. Kev, you got to look for blinking lights. 616 says that they babysat for somebody who had a nanny cam. Do you have to tell your nanny that really, legally you do?

03:04:10 - 03:04:14 | Speaker 2:

Or it just has to be very exposed so that they can see it.

03:04:14 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 1:

I think it's so wrong if you don't tell somebody that.

03:04:18 - 03:04:43 | Speaker 3:

See, but nowadays, like when you say tell by the blinking light, there are stickers, there are cover-ups that you can attach to that area to be able to prevent that. Like my meta glasses. So if you have the meta Ray-Bans, you can take pictures or record video. There's a white light that's present on the iframe so the person that is being videoed can see, oh, that's a light I must be on. But if you go on Amazon, you can buy little black stickers to put over that light.

03:04:43 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what I don't like? I don't like that you have those things because I always forget that you have them. And then I see you with and I'm like, oh, those are stylish. Wait a second. Like, do people get mad at you when they find out that they are meta glasses? So Thanksgiving, when I went to the Thanksgiving game for the line.

03:05:00 - 03:05:22 | Speaker 3:

and we went to the oblox tailgate my guy who we were golfing with i had my glasses on so i want to do like a little low-key quick little look yeah my boy jay i go quick chef jake what up i go to the left he's like oh you got the glasses on i'm like yes here go the white light just so you know everybody cover up i'm not trying to you know get anybody you know i'm hitting camera

03:05:22 - 03:05:40 | Speaker 4:

that's not what i'm trying to another texter here said that you can buy an infrared scanner that will show you whether or not that somebody's got any kind of a recording device um oh i like these ones shannon try cinnamon eggnog from kroger with bailey's it is so good i love eggnog too i know

03:05:40 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 1:

it's a very polarizing beverage but i love it so i will try that quick poll eggnog or no eggnog oh my god i that's the eggnog in the refrigerator i've been downing it have you really yeah i love

03:05:51 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 4:

it i just have like a little tiny bit every day i gotta i gotta have a little glass of it at christmas time just because it's yeah megan it's dairy no you don't like oh yeah do they have fake

03:06:00 - 03:06:06 | Speaker 5:

eggnog like dairy free i'm sure they do but i think the flavor of eggnog is disgusting i'm

03:06:06 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 4:

what's up javier hi hey hi good morning what's going on

03:06:11 - 03:06:48 | Speaker 2:

hey yeah um the tile the ceiling side guy probably just rushed by you guys so you know he didn't get to finish javi bro i'm not rocking with that is do you do that for a living and that's why you know this well i don't i finished my projects completely but yeah i do i do uh no no hermano no oh i mean especially in the corner you gotta cut it you know hermano

03:06:48 - 03:06:59 | Speaker 4:

he wanted his cerveza to go hey hold on wait real quick let me speak spanish to you rum chata

03:06:59 - 03:07:06 | Speaker 2:

i don't i don't think we we don't drink rum chata wait wait are you telling me

03:07:06 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 4:

rum chata isn't it rum chata basically or chata with rum yeah yeah pretty much same thing and by the way if you know anybody at jose's tacos i think they're lying to us jose's tacos never has rum chata they always say we just ran out i think it's like the mcdonald's ice cream machine They always say, oh, it's broken. I don't believe that they even have one of them. Jose's Taco is right down the street from us here.

03:07:32 - 03:07:38 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm originally from Toledo, so I don't know much. San Marcos!

03:07:38 - 03:07:43 | Speaker 4:

They have Mexicans in Toledo? I didn't know that. Really? There's a Mexican town.

03:07:43 - 03:07:45 | Speaker 5:

There's a South End Mexican town.

03:07:45 - 03:07:49 | Speaker 4:

I thought you don't want to be that far south. You want to get as far north as you possibly can.

03:07:49 - 03:07:54 | Speaker 5:

Where are the best tacos in Toledo? Where are the best tacos? Say it right now. There's one right answer.

03:07:54 - 03:07:55 | Speaker 4:

What's the supermarket place that you took us to?

03:07:56 - 03:08:01 | Speaker 2:

No, it's a new one. It's something Vargas. Vargas Taco.

03:08:01 - 03:08:05 | Speaker 5:

Is that the one that took over the San Marcos location on Reynolds?

03:08:05 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 4:

No, no. This is Megan. Megan does this. Anybody from Toledo calls. She's got to hyper-localize every single thing. I'm so Toledo. Hold on a second real quick. Do you live on 8th Street next to the blue house with the orange? We get it. You're from Toledo. Man. I'm going to hyper-localize you. Eastern Market. I don't know anything about Eastern Market. What do you know about your place now that you live in, in Detroit? Do you, like, if somebody calls up and says, hey, I live in Midtown, do you sit there and go, do you live next to the Sally's nails?

03:08:40 - 03:08:42 | Speaker 5:

No, I go home all the time.

03:08:42 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 4:

Sally's.

03:08:43 - 03:08:44 | Speaker 5:

I like going to Toledo.

03:08:45 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Becky, what's going on, Becky?

03:08:46 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 5:

Adios, Avi.

03:08:48 - 03:08:57 | Speaker 7:

I was calling about the camera. I was at a cleaning company and I was using the bathroom and I went to wash my hands and found there was a camera staring right at me the entire time.

03:08:57 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 4:

That's like perverted, isn't it?

03:09:00 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 7:

Isn't it? Yeah. It's pretty scary.

03:09:02 - 03:09:03 | Speaker 4:

What are you going to steal? Toilet paper?

03:09:05 - 03:09:05 | Unknown:

I know.

03:09:06 - 03:09:12 | Speaker 4:

I mean, toilet paper was only worth something during COVID when we all couldn't find toilet paper and we all had to try to find it. What's up, Rachel?

03:09:13 - 03:09:14 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

03:09:15 - 03:09:17 | Speaker 4:

You have a piece of advice for Kev?

03:09:18 - 03:09:28 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I've seen videos where you have to shine your flashlight at it and then either, I think it's red, but red or blue, you'll see a little tiny light that's colored.

03:09:28 - 03:09:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm on that.

03:09:29 - 03:09:33 | Speaker 6:

So it will, yeah, it will reflect back if it's a camera.

03:09:33 - 03:09:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. How do you know this?

03:09:36 - 03:09:41 | Speaker 5:

I've seen TikToks. Okay, okay, okay. And they market it towards women that are staying in hotels for business.

03:09:42 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's smart. This was a huge thing for Airbnbs too.

03:09:45 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

03:09:45 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

03:09:46 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh yeah, it still is.

03:09:47 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 4:

On a totally different note, speaking of your flashlight, you're talking about your flashlight on your phone, right? Yeah. Somebody talked tomorrow morning. Can we talk in a whole segment and do a Megan minute?

03:10:00 - 03:10:09 | Speaker 3:

or a Mojo Minute, a Shannon Minute, Kevin Minute, about the new update on the iPhone and how it screwed up our photos and our videos and all the rest of that stuff.

03:10:09 - 03:10:10 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what do you mean?

03:10:10 - 03:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Have you done the new update on your iPhone yet? I just literally got a brand new phone today, though. They screwed up the, Apple messed up the photos so bad and the videos so bad. It's near, it used to be so user-friendly. It is not user-friendly anymore. I feel like you need to go get a degree at the College for Creative Studies. In order to be able to use your iPhone right now. You got to do the minute tomorrow. All right, so tomorrow I'm going to talk about this because it's really effed me up. I can't find photos anymore. For some reason, I used to be able to just go in.

03:10:40 - 03:10:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, the way that it's organized. It's stupid. I a million percent agree with you.

03:10:44 - 03:10:46 | Speaker 3:

So remind me tomorrow we're going to bring it up.

03:10:46 - 03:10:46 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what you're talking about.

03:10:47 - 03:11:15 | Speaker 3:

Tomorrow morning on the show. Look forward to that. That's your tease for today. Some people have bigger teases. We have bigger teases. Actually, Red Wings tickets tomorrow. This week on the show, Lions tickets. We're going to give away some tickets to see the Lions take on the Minnesota Vikings. And after the Vikings' big win yesterday on Monday Night Football and the Lions obviously lost against Buffalo, this game's going to mean something. So make sure you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. We will see you tomorrow. Have a great day.

03:11:15 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 2:

20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:11:22 - 03:11:23 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

03:11:23 - 03:11:51 | Speaker 2:
