You're a doo-doo hack. Here we go, go, go.

00:02:34 - 00:02:37 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go. It's showtime!

00:02:54 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 5:

We'll be right back. morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show almost christmas guys santa's watching you war of the roses not a good time for you to be cheating also not a good time for us to be doing this i actually thought that we should pause war of the roses when we're doing nice things like breaking and entering christmas wish not that it would cause for more people to go out and cheat But why ruin the holidays for people? Today is the last War of the Roses that you will hear from our live shows. You'll get to hear the best of the best that have happened over 2024, over the next couple of weeks as we count down to 2025. But today, our last one. And listen, this morning's is a real touchy one because the father of her baby could be cheating. Her boyfriend possibly cheating on her. It's been acting really different lately. You know, it's one of those ones where the guy's not normally a partier. Now he's all of a sudden turned into Mr. Party. And we will do the War of the Roses in less than an hour from now here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is kind of wild. So our very own Zach from the show is giving Shannon some help, little tips, and some advice on the Elf on the Shelf. If we have kids listening, if kids are listening, take them away from the radio for a second. But I think this is one that parents can relate to here right now. What's going on, Shannon?

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

So I don't know how this.

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 1:

happened but zach is friends with the three elves that we have in my house rice krispie treat

00:05:07 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 2:

freddie and candy cane sprinkles do you think they do like uh partying together like they i don't know do they do trivia together i don't know i don't smoke weed mistletoe come in studio come in studio because i can't hear your mic on the radio when you're talking

00:05:23 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 1:

from in there uh i am so thankful for that friendship by the way and that direct line of communication between Zach and the elves. What are the elves' names again? Rice Krispie Treats was the original one that came to visit us when Lucy was three years old. And then we got a second helper elf a couple of years ago, Candy Cane Sprinkles. And then when I got married, Wes's elf came to our house as well, and that's Freddie. So we now have three.

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 3:

Freddie's my favorite. Freddie's your favorite. Freddie is the most.

00:05:51 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Freddie's trouble. He's pretty naughty. But this morning, I could not find the elves, and I finally found them in my kitchen. And one of the items that Smith asked for on his Christmas list this year, aside from the Cybertruck that I already talked about that he's not getting, was an Apple Watch. And so the elves had made Apple Watches for both Lucy and Smith out of actual apples. Oh, that's great. And apparently, Zach was behind this idea. Really?

00:06:33 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 2:

Look at you. Zach, are you like an elf helper?

00:06:39 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 3:

You're an elf helper? Yeah. So I used to do it for my niece and nephew. Okay. Like help their elf. Yeah. And I just love it. What is their elf's name? Buddy, I think. Wait, you don't know their elf's name? No, it's been a couple. Everybody.

00:06:53 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

I love the ones that are not very creative. It's like Elfie. Buddy.

00:06:57 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 2:

Let's do this. Call us up and shout out your elf. I want to know your elf's names because people always have crazy names. Like one of my favorites was the kid that was friends with Luke and his elf's name was Frank. It was just like, that's Frank. And they would talk about Frank like Frank was like a family member. Like I was like, is that your uncle? Like who is it?

00:07:15 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, that's Rice Krispie Treat. I mean, she's been a part of our family since Lucy was three years old. Seven years now, eight years going down.

00:07:21 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 2:

By the way, this is interesting because I've often wondered this. Would you ever trust, I know you trust Zach around your elves. Would you ever trust Zach to like babysit Smith at all? Oh, absolutely.

00:07:33 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

A hundred percent. Would you? They would have the best time. Let's go. Zach's great with kids.

00:07:38 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

But Zach, would you make sure that you weren't grabbing some edibles beforehand?

00:07:43 - 00:07:45 | Speaker 3:

I mean, come on. No, no, I wouldn't do that.

00:07:45 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 1:

But I sent Zach a picture at like 4 a.m. of what our elves did, and he was like, yeah.

00:07:50 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. By the way, I got to tell you something. Anybody that doesn't think that they're creative, talk to moms with these damn elves on the shelves. This is pretty freaking creative. That's unbelievable. What a great one. By the way, he wants-

00:08:01 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 1:

It's even plugged in.

00:08:02 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 2:

He wants an Apple Watch. Wait, is this the same Apple Watch that you bought and it turned out to be a scam or something?

00:08:11 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

It wasn't a scam. What was it? I'm just an idiot when it comes to technology. And I did get Smith an Apple watch for Christmas, but during Black Friday, Walmart had this deal that was like $140 for an Apple watch. And I was like, heck yeah, that's the cheapest I've seen by far. Sign me up. So immediately clicked purchase, got it, took it to the AT&T store to get it all set up with like a number and service and stuff. And the guys, shout out to Michael and John at the AT&T store on Woodward in Birmingham, by the way, they're amazing. But they were like, Shan, this watch doesn't have cellular capability, and that's why it was so cheap. That's why it was $100. So you need to return it and get your money back.

00:08:51 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

This watch just tells time.

00:08:54 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they're like, if you just want him to tell time and know how many steps he got in for the day, this is your watch.

00:09:02 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

That was not Apple Watch. That was a Snapple watch.

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 4:

If you have a cell phone, those are super cheap and super convenient.

00:09:08 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 1:

But if you're doing it in replacement of a cell phone, like for kids. Smith does not have a cell phone. I just want him to be able to call me from his dad's house, and I want to know where he is.

00:09:18 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Mitchell, are you there? Hello. Oh, Michelle. I'm sorry. It looked like it was Michelle. Michelle. Oh, she forgot the E at the end of it. What is the...

00:09:30 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 4:

First time, long time. Hey, this time. I'm a phone.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

What is your elf's name? Shout out the elves this morning.

00:09:38 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 4:

It's Billy the bus elf. I'm a bus driver, and I do something different every morning for my kids on the bus. Stop! I love that.

00:09:50 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 2:

What's the craziest thing that Billy's ever done on that bus?

00:09:55 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 4:

He was hanging from the ceiling, and he had his eyes to where he was.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 5:

was watching every student. So that day, this particular day, the kids happened to be really, really well.

00:10:06 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's great. So he makes sure that they sit on their seats, right? They're not turning around, they're not jumping around. That's good. I like that idea.

00:10:14 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 5:

And yesterday, he was in a container because I have a few students that think farting on the bus is funny. So I put him in a container and said he couldn't come out because they were stinky.

00:10:28 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 2:

That's too funny. I love that the kids are farting on the bus.

00:10:32 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

And clearly talking about it.

00:10:34 - 00:10:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's great. Brett, what's going on, Brett? You wanted to make a comment on Zach with Smith's Elf? Yeah. So what is the strangest thing you've had an elf do, Zach?

00:10:47 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I crushed, okay, had candy beans, and then I crushed them up, and then I had him, like, disappear. Doing cocaine? No, it disappeared. Like it was his body, and then it just vanished. Oh, really? Into a crack. Norton Lines? Yeah, no. Well, not that. He's into a cocaine. No.

00:11:08 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 3:

He and Zach are standards. Me and Frank, we're crazy.

00:11:15 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 2:

Crystal, shout out the elf this morning here on the Mojo on the Morning Show.

00:11:19 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 5:

Hi, first time, long time. Yeah, first time, Crystal on the phone. I have Damien Ryder, Trixie Voyager, and Elfie is my reindeer.

00:11:31 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 4:

Trixie Voyager sounds like a stripper.

00:11:33 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

A stripper.

00:11:35 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 4:

Or an amazing drag queen. Thank you. Thank you.

00:11:39 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 2:

That's fantastic.

00:11:40 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's great.

00:11:41 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 2:

What a great mom you are, Crystal.

00:11:44 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Okay, Smith is up, and he just discovered the elves. Can I call him really quick?

00:11:49 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, let's do it. Okay, let's see. Let me see if I can. Can you dial him on your phone and put your phone right up to the mic there?

00:11:55 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, I have it connected.

00:11:56 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you do? I don't think it will, unfortunately, work. I don't know. We can try it. Oh, dang it. Oh, good, it does.

00:12:02 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 4:

Let me see if they'll answer. There you go. He may not hear you, though. But apparently he's freaking out.

00:12:06 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:12:07 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on. Oh, here we go. Hi. Hi. This is everybody meet Bren. Hi, Bren. This is my most amazing nanny in the morning.

00:12:16 - 00:12:18 | Speaker 5:

She's FaceTiming. Come here.

00:12:20 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Smith. Hey, Smith, you're on the radio. What were the elves doing this morning?

00:12:29 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

I can't hear her.

00:12:30 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, see, I don't think he can hear you. Here, put it on the speaker. Smith! Yeah, there's some kind of a setting, weird setting thing that I've got to figure out in the next year. Smith, here, is it on your phone?

00:12:45 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 4:

No, it's on the iPad.

00:12:46 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 2:

On the iPad?

00:12:47 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 4:

Can you hear Mojo?

00:12:49 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:12:49 - 00:12:49 | Unknown:

Yes.

00:12:50 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Smith. What did your elf do?

00:12:57 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 4:

You have to say it because we can't see you remember, so you have to talk about it.

00:13:02 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

There was apples, and then there was like kind of like a watch. And then they write, we made you Apple watches.

00:13:16 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:13:17 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 3:

Just like you wanted. And there's gum on the sides To make the watch

00:13:23 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 2:

That's cool Smith, what's the reasoning Why do you think that your elf did that With the Apple Watch

00:13:30 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Because I probably want one

00:13:34 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Oh you do

00:13:35 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 3:

Is that not what you asked for Because I think you got what you asked for, right An Apple Watch And it's seedless I mean, I do like fruits I do like fruits

00:13:46 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 2:

I love you, honey. Real quick, I've got to ask Smith one last question. Smith, can I ask you one last question?

00:13:53 - 00:13:53 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:13:54 - 00:14:00 | Speaker 2:

Sniff your elf and see if it smells like a skunk, because the rumor is that he was hanging out with Zach from our show.

00:14:02 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 4:

He's just looking at me like, what? And shaking his head no.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:18:30 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:18:34 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 3:

Well, that attorney, Tony Busby, who a lot of people are calling slimy, he's representing like 120 ditty victims. Actually, a lot of Jay-Z is calling him slimy. Yeah. Well, he is now suing, speaking of Jay-Z's Rocky Nation and several of Jay-Z's lawyers for allegedly conspiring with and paying some of Busby's former clients to come forward and sue his firm. So Busby, along with those 120 other individuals, he is also representing that woman who alleges that she was raped by Diddy and Jay-Z more than two decades ago when she was just 13 years old. with Jay-Z denying that allegation and suing Busby for extortion. So this is going back and forth. But there are now two lawsuits accusing Busby of fraud and other misconduct. And they were filed by his own former clients just last week. Both accused Busby and his firm of abuse and unethical conduct in the handling of two personal injury lawsuits last year. A spokesperson for Roc Nation denied Busby's accusations, calling the lawsuit, and I love this word, baloney. Baloney.

00:19:46 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 5:

Bugsby baloney.

00:19:47 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 3:

In related dirty ditty, has reportedly lost a whole bunch of weight while sitting his butt behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. That is according to a journalist who attended a hearing yesterday in his federal sex trafficking campaign.

00:20:00 - 00:21:20 | Speaker 5:

case. Law and crime reporter Elizabeth Milner said he appeared astonishingly thinner and his hair is gray. No cameras allowed in the courtroom, so we're just going by what she said, but she said he looks really, really different. A 20-year-old California man was detained for allegedly planning a mass shooting at a government building in a parallel and coordinated attack with that teenage girl who took the lives of a teacher and a student and then her own life at that Wisconsin Christian school earlier this week we talked about that school shooting she was just 15 years old well Alexander Pattendorf is this guy's name and he exchanged messages with Natalie Ropnow about targeting a local government building while she shot up the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison Wisconsin I don't know which building he was targeting specifically but how crazy is that these two were messaging each other about coordinating their attacks and the messages between the two could provide some insight to her motivation to commit that school shooting because investigators are still searching for a motive i wonder like did they say what platform it was that they were communicating i don't know yeah i don't know i can find out but yeah yeah was travis kelsey hinting that he's going to be retiring soon on his new heights podcast

00:21:20 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 1:

episode this week it felt so surreal and i i don't know if it's the last time i'll ever play in cleveland but it kind of felt like i was like giving it one last hoorah before i'm done because you know i've only played there twice in 12 years so yeah unless uh we get thrown on there in the next couple i don't really see it ever interesting happening again and it was just a special day for

00:21:40 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 4:

me personally man so if he does retire does that mean that he's going to be settling down to make taylor his wifey and then they'll have children's yeah children's maybe it could come

00:21:55 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 3:

I mean, playing twice somewhere for 12 years, the odds of him playing there in the next five probably are slim to none. He's getting up there in age, and you want to leave on your own terms and not have some freak injury or something. Is he getting up there in age? How old is he? For a tight end, I would say. Really?

00:22:09 - 00:22:18 | Speaker 4:

For sports, people don't play that long in sports. And he's been banged up a lot, too, I'll be honest with you, man. He does not look the same this year as he has in, let's see here, Travis.

00:22:18 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 5:

I just feel like everybody goes into their 40s like Tom Brady.

00:22:20 - 00:22:23 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. But no. I think quarterbacks get hit less.

00:22:24 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 3:

He's probably like 35, maybe. Okay.

00:22:25 - 00:22:27 | Speaker 4:

Let's see. He's 35. Taylor's 35. You're right.

00:22:27 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 5:

Look at you. He and Taylor are the same age. All right. Okay, and I promise you the Masked Singer was a good one. Oh, I was hoping you forgot. I didn't. I noticed you didn't put it up on my screen, and I just texted you and said, do not do that to me.

00:22:39 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 4:

I was kind of using this as an opportunity for us to do public service.

00:22:42 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 5:

So, the Masked Singer last night, there were two different costumes that were unmasked. The season's runner-up was unmasked. I'm going to save you from playing all this. I'll just tell you it was none other than Mario. Okay? Decent one. The winners, though, the Buffalo. Okay, I'm going to play you the Buffalo singing, and then you tell me if you have any guesses.

00:23:04 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm way too good at goodbye.

00:23:07 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 5:

I'm way too good at goodbye. The group.

00:23:10 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 4:

It's a group. Like a singing group? Or a group of people?

00:23:16 - 00:23:17 | Speaker 5:

The singing group.

00:23:18 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:23:18 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 5:

Can you give us a clue? O-Town. Boy band.

00:23:22 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 4:

It's Megan's favorite, the Lachez.

00:23:25 - 00:23:44 | Speaker 5:

98 degrees? Boys to men, you guys. Are you serious? Boys to men. I'm always excited when it's somebody big. That's big. Here's the thing. The guys said that they've been asked numerous times to compete on The Masked Singer, but scheduling issues made it tough to do until now, so they were very, very happy.

00:23:45 - 00:23:46 | Speaker 4:

Boys to men. Did they sound better?

00:23:46 - 00:23:48 | Speaker 5:

I thought you'd be more excited.

00:23:48 - 00:23:52 | Speaker 3:

I was disappointed in the clip. The clip doesn't scream boys to men. No.

00:23:52 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 5:

All right, for all of today's 30s. I thought it was great. On the podcast on the iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com. Good job, Sharon.

00:24:00 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 2:

00:24:08 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 2:

You want to know what I'm getting for Christmas? Fat. I'm getting fat.

00:24:13 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 5:

Merry Christmas from Mojo in the morning.

00:24:16 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 4:

Hey, we've got a little smarter than Shannon. Shannon taking on Dallas in the 5 at 6.55 coming up. Good morning, Mariah, all I want for Christmas. What's going on, Shannon?

00:24:27 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 5:

So there was a huge celebrity at Mariah's Christmas show in Brooklyn this week. And the celebrity asked Mariah to sign a body part. I'll tell you who it was and what body part she signed in the dirty.

00:24:38 - 00:24:45 | Speaker 4:

Coming up here in just a little bit, the next one, 730. By the way, the next one, we'll also have a trip to Miami to give away. So a chance to win.

00:24:45 - 00:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Cheat and you'll get caught is the War of the Roses in Minutes of Mojo in the Morning. Yes. It's Mojo in the Mornings, 5 at 6.55. 5 at 6.55, yo. 5 at 6.55, yo. All right, the 5 at...

00:25:00 - 00:27:59 | Speaker 1:

At 6.55 is a special one today because we have 15-time champion Dallas. Yes, a huge winner in the 5 at 6.55 the last 15 mornings. Now she's on her 16th morning. Hi, Dallas. How are you? Hello. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. You sound so much better. Yeah, you do. I know. I know. I got better overnight. That's incredible. It's a Christmas miracle. And she's heading off on her honeymoon, so we're excited for you on that. Let's head off a winner and see if you can beat Shannon this morning. This is how we do it. You go 15 times, you get in a tournament of champions. That's what Dallas did. Now she takes on Shannon, the originator of this contest when we used to call it Smarter Than Shannon. So we, of course, do the questions like we always do. Shannon did not write these questions like she usually does. I actually wrote some of these questions with help of others. Shannon is going to have to leave the studio so I can ask you the questions first. She's the ultimate champion. I know people get angry with this. They think that you guys should have, like, a clean win. But Shannon is the ultimate champion. She's our Dirty on the 30 expert. Will you please ask Shannon to leave the studio? Shannon, respectfully, will you please leave the studio? Oh, she's so sweet. Good luck, Dallas. Don't be respectful to her. I'm telling you. She's not going to be respectful to you when she beat you here in a second. Watch out, Dallas. All right. Five questions. You know the drill. Here we go. Question number one. Taylor Swift had an eras-themed night out with Patrick Mahomes' wife with attendees dressed in Taylor's eras. What's Mahomes' wife's name? uh britney question number two the highly anticipated mufasa opens up tonight in theaters with beyonce and her daughter blue ivy lending their voices what character does blue play um question number three good morning america's george stephanopoulos was told by the network to not use the word raped when referring to President-elect Donald Trump in an interview that sparked a $16 million Trump settlement? What network does he work for? I don't know that one, or did you just throw a guess out? I didn't hear you. Fox. Question number four. Atlanta Falcons told rookie Michael Penix Jr. that he was going to be starting this weekend over veteran Kirk Cousins while he was in line for a hot dog at Costco. This is a great story. Which Michigan school did Cousins play his college career at? The Sparty of Michigan State. And question number five, Shannon's been talking a lot about Jay-Z on the show. We call him Jay-Z, but that's not his real name. What is Jay-Z's real full name?

00:28:00 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 1:

Sean Carter. Let's bring Shannon back. Shannon! Dallas! Let's go. All right, she's on her way. She's on her way. How lucky are we to end the year with a battle like this? She did great. She did great, Shannon. Dallas got four out of five. Wow. Okay, hang on, hang on. Let me put my... And these are tough. Come on, Shannon. I know. Come on, Shannon. Represent for the squad. Four out of five. Eight. One downriver person to another, Shannon. Oh, thanks, Dallas. Only one of y'all going upstream today. Four out of five, there is a rapper question and a sports question. Of course there is, of course there is. All right, here we go. Question number one. Okay. Taylor Swift had an heiress-themed night out with Patrick Mahomes' wife with attendees dressed in Taylor's heiress. What is Mahomes' wife's name? Brittany. One to one. Okay. Question number two. The highly anticipated Mufasa opens tonight in theaters with Beyonce and her daughter Blue Ivy lending their voices? Yes. What character does Blue play? Kaya? Kyra? Kaya. No. Kiera. Kiera. I knew it was a K. One to two. Did you get that? Oh, you got that, Dallas? Yes. Dang. Yes, that's my favorite movie. You cannot miss these next ones. Okay. If you miss any one of these next ones. By the Grinch smile on Mojo's face, I'm going to miss one. And there's a sports and a rapper one still to come. I know. Okay. Question number three. Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos was told by the network to not use the word raped when referring to President-elect Donald Trump in an interview that sparked a $16 million Trump settlement. What network are we talking about? ABC. Yes. Two to two. Question number three. Here comes the sports. Atlanta Falcons. The Atlanta Falcons told rookie Michael.

00:30:00 - 00:30:13 | Speaker 7:

Penix Jr. that he was going to be starting over veteran Kirk Cousins this weekend while he was in line for a hot dog at Costco. Don't you love the Costco hot dogs? Don't try to make me feel

00:30:13 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 5:

better about this question. How great is that though? $1.25. Never had one. Here we go. Here's

00:30:19 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 7:

your question. Which Michigan school did Cousins play his college career at? I'm going to say the

00:30:25 - 00:30:28 | Speaker 5:

university of michigan you're gonna say

00:30:28 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 7:

he's a spartan we got oh my god we got an ultimate champion and it's not shit

00:30:38 - 00:30:40 | Speaker 3:

oh my god

00:30:40 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 5:

you are not allowed that wasn't me that wasn't that was mine that was mine i'm taking credit He's wearing a sweatshirt, too. Yes. He didn't even get the rapper. Okay, wait. I want to know the rest of them.

00:30:54 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 7:

Okay, the last question. Yeah. You've been talking a lot about Jay-Z.

00:30:57 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:30:58 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 7:

Right? Yeah. Jay-Z's in the news. What is Jay-Z's real full name?

00:31:03 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I know this. Sean Carter. Yes. Yeah. Sean Carter. You would have gotten that right. I'm a scorer. They would have just been a ball.

00:31:13 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 7:

Dallas, congratulations. We're sending you off on your honeymoon with a win.

00:31:17 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 4:

Thank you, guys. Thank you, thank you.

00:31:23 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 7:

How amazing is that, Dallas, that you have won 16 straight contests on our show, and now you're going to go and make mad passionate love to your wife. How often, be honest with me, how often do you guys think you're going to be naked together?

00:31:41 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 4:

I mean, most likely probably a lot. Where is her wife? Is she there with you? Yeah, she's actually in the car. Oh, my God. We need to talk to her.

00:31:49 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Wifey? I don't even know what Wifey's name is. Hi, what's your name? What's your name? Oh, Michaela. Hi, Michaela. Dallas and Michaela, congratulations to you guys.

00:32:00 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Thank you guys so much. It's been so much fun, seriously.

00:32:04 - 00:32:14 | Speaker 7:

Please, you guys go have the best time together. Enjoy. Get some sun. Tan your booties. And then call us when you get back. We want to hear about it, all right?

00:32:15 - 00:32:19 | Speaker 3:

00:32:19 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 7:

You can text cheater to 95500.

00:33:28 - 00:33:33 | Speaker 1:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:33:34 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 7:

So, Lena, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you, and why is that?

00:33:39 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 2:

so we had a baby four months ago and um we haven't exactly been intimate since we had the baby and like kind of leading up to it so he's been kind of distant and acting kind of weird with me

00:33:50 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 7:

have you tried to talk to him about this like have you said hey you know or tried to initiate sex and he's just he's not into it i mean i don't know if

00:34:03 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 2:

you've ever had a newborn but it's not a lot of opportunity to initiate sex when you have a screaming baby that's awake every three hours so are you the one that's the reason why you're not

00:34:13 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 7:

having sex like you're choosing not not to have sex or or is he the one that's choosing well

00:34:19 - 00:34:33 | Speaker 2:

medically i couldn't have sex for several weeks after i give birth so okay um that's part of the situation and then i'm exhausted i'm i have a baby on my boob every hour like yeah so no but why are

00:34:33 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 7:

But why are you thinking that he's cheating? Like, why are you going to the fact that he's cheating?

00:34:38 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

He went from, you know, previously leaving the house to go work and then work out for like an hour. And then now he goes to work and then work lasts a little later than usual. And then he'll go to the gym and then the gym will be like two and a half hours. And just his time away from home has been slowly getting longer. And I thought it was because of the baby. but then

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 3:

And he's just, like, acting strange.

00:35:03 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 1:

So you're thinking that because of the baby and because of the less sex that you guys are having, that he's out possibly cheating with somebody? Right. Has this ever been an issue in your relationship even before you had a baby? Did you ever think that he was the type of person that would cheat on you?

00:35:24 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 3:

Not necessarily. I mean, we've been together two years, and there weren't really any red flags prior to, you know, the baby.

00:35:33 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 1:

Do you fear that he has been in a relationship with somebody, or do you think that he's just out?

00:35:44 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 2:

Checked out.

00:35:45 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 1:

Checked out, yeah.

00:35:48 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I wouldn't want to call it checked out because, I mean, what is he doing? Sitting in a parking lot somewhere, scrolling through Instagram?

00:35:55 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 1:

like what could he possibly be doing well yeah a lot of a lot of times maybe he's just getting staying away from the house because he's got responsibilities of of having a baby and maybe it's just not cheating but i mean the algorithm will have you stuck explain what is that the algorithm will have you stuck like girls coming up in your let's move on okay all right um all All right, so Lena, you just had a baby. You guys are dealing with, obviously, raising a newborn, and now you're worried that he's cheating on you. We're going to find out who he sends a dozen free roses to when we call him up. We're hoping that the flowers go to you. Hang on the phone for just one second, okay, and mute your phone if you can.

00:36:42 - 00:36:42 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:36:51 - 00:37:30 | Speaker 2:

00:40:29 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 3:

While you've been sending the flowers off, your girlfriend, Lena, has been on the phone the entire time and just heard you send them to another woman. You say Lena? Lena has been listening in this entire phone call and just heard you send flowers to another woman. And I understand that you guys just recently had a baby, Calvin.

00:41:12 - 00:41:16 | Speaker 4:

No, this is... some bulls**t.

00:41:19 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 3:

Calvin? You don't have the phone. Lena, do you have any idea who that is?

00:41:29 - 00:41:34 | Speaker 6:

I honestly have no idea who that is. I just don't know what to say right now.

00:41:36 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 3:

And the message that he left, too.

00:41:41 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I guess he's been seeing her for some time and sending her rose as well. She's had a hard week, not I, who has been waking up every hour on the hour with his child, so.

00:41:54 - 00:41:55 | Speaker 3:

Nina, hang on one second, okay?

Okay.

00:41:58 - 00:42:05 | Speaker 2:

Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses, Mojo in the Morning. We're busting cheaters.

00:42:05 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 6:

How dare you? How f***ing dare you?

00:42:08 - 00:42:10 | Speaker 2:

It's War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:10 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:14 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 3:

Calvin, I'm going to jump on here just to wrap up the call. I need to inform you of one last thing, and then we will let you off this call. While you've been sending the flowers off, your girlfriend, Lena, has been on the phone the entire time and just heard you send them to another woman.

00:42:41 - 00:42:43 | Speaker 4:

You say Lena?

00:42:44 - 00:43:00 | Speaker 3:

Lena has been listening in this entire phone call and just heard you send flowers to another woman. and I understand that you guys just recently had a baby, Calvin. Nah, this is

00:43:00 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 4:

some bulls**t.

00:43:15 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 3:

Lena?

00:43:18 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah?

00:43:19 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 3:

We've been trying to call him. Has he contacted you since we last had talked?

00:43:28 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 6:

No, he's probably on the phone with Stephanie. He clearly doesn't care about me or his kid.

00:43:35 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 3:

We've been trying to call her number, too. And we'll continue to do that. Stay right here, okay? Okay. War of the Roses here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's just awful. It's an awful situation and you just get done having a baby and you got, obviously, a lot of things that you are having happen to your life that's changing and should be changing for the best. And then you hear a story like this. This is not good. Alyssa wants to comment. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. What's up, Alyssa? Hi.

00:44:07 - 00:44:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I would just like to say that women are so strong. They can push out a baby. They can do it all, right? Instead of trying to figure out where to figure out who Stephanie is, she needs to figure out how to get out of the relationship. I'm not sure if everyone's married or not, legal reasons. But women, you know, that's the thing. Men, they won't ever respect you, even if they do this after you have a baby. So there's not much you can do after that besides just leave.

00:44:37 - 00:44:44 | Speaker 3:

When you ask that question of you're not sure if everyone's married, are you talking about those two because they're not married? Or are you talking about all of us on the show?

00:44:45 - 00:44:48 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no. It sounds like those two. Yeah, no, no.

00:44:48 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 3:

Because I was going to say, I didn't know if you're new to the show at all. But those two, they're not married. I don't know what their intentions were as far as if they were going to get married.

00:44:59 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:45:00 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 5:

And it's one of those, it's one of those where you look at, you look at what this is going on here and obviously his life's changed. And I will say this, I've had three children and the first one I was overjoyed over how great it was to be a dad. The second one, I was a little freaked out. I was freaked out over the fact that my responsibilities now just doubled, okay, or tripled, basically, because now we have, you know, a bigger family. And I will say this, as a guy, when that happened, when Jacob was born, I don't think that my attentiveness to Chelsea was as good as it was when she had Joey. And I see this happening with guys. I see where guys all of a sudden will have a baby. I see that they don't understand how much they need to be there to help out because there's a lot of hormonal things that go on postpartum is a big deal and I see a lot of times where and I did this with Jacob I checked out and I wasn't the guy that I should have been and I regret it immensely it's something that literally to this day I go and have therapy I've never went out and had the the affair on Chelsea during that time but I could see where

00:46:19 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 3:

that could happen i think that how would women feel though you know what i'm saying they push out they do all that when they have the baby then they have to deal with the emotional part

00:46:27 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 1:

oh for sure and i i give mojo credit that's where that's what he's trying to say and and also like guys this is when your partner needs the most amount of support amen like even if you feel like she's pushing you away our brains are like mushy after we have a baby and yeah all it is

00:46:47 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 4:

is is amazing and I 100% agree I think who's prepared in this situation because we always say like you can't prepare yourself to have a child and I feel like a woman obviously like your your body is changing your body has been changing for however long you've been having this baby like you're more nurturing you're more caring like as a guy how do you even like develop that that mindset at times because I will say I was I was really attentive to Sherelle during that experience but i know there are a lot of guys that didn't grow up that way who have like you know a mom in their life or a woman in their life to kind of show them how it is they didn't have sisters or aunts with kids like how do you get to that place where you know how to be there

00:47:29 - 00:48:35 | Speaker 5:

and support your woman fully when you have a baby you should both not have any time to go out to bars and hang out and be at work longer like you should it should not it should not happen because now your your life has completely changed as far as what your responsibilities are all about but i do think that this is something and I remember saying this to a co-worker of ours whose spouse went through postpartum I don't believe that they talk to the couples enough during the pregnancy about how this will affect your marriage and I know that there's a or a relationship in this case because they're not married I don't think that it comes up and I think that that's something that you should if you're getting ready to have a baby seriously have conversations with each other about if not a professional about which would probably be better because here's a guy who she says up until the time that she had this baby this guy was amazing you know what i mean like this guy was there for her he didn't go out party he didn't worry about him you know himself as much and then all of a sudden he has a baby and he's you have to understand there is going to be a

00:48:35 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 1:

transition it is going to be different especially in those first couple of weeks and months if you are not getting as a guy i'm saying this if you are not getting the same amount of attention that you did just know that it's you know this is a huge transition period not just for your partner for you too and like that's it's very normal it's not like in this case you know he was being

00:49:00 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 5:

ignored on purpose and and we are no means saying that kelvin is getting any respect from us The guy is a son of a bitch, okay? And I think that what he's done is horrible. But I do think that I can see where this could happen more often, and I think you've got to be careful. What's up, Nicole?

00:49:23 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Mojo.

00:49:23 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's happening? Where are the roses?

00:49:25 - 00:49:52 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hey. Yeah, I just, this isn't the first time I've heard a guy say this, but I just think it's comical that he says this is BS when he got caught, but doesn't think it's B.S. that he cheated on his girl and his family. Correct. So it's always B.S. that, you know, they feel they were tricked. Correct. But you're cheating. So you're tricking your significant other.

00:49:53 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, no, I know. Well, that's his reaction. First off, he didn't sound like the brightest guy in the world. I mean, I hate to say it.

00:50:00 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 3:

He just, I mean, I obviously got caught off guard and he also fell for a telemarketer scam. I mean, you know, look at that. But Lydia, I don't know how you can get that. We had a caller that was on hold that want to be voice guys. And I don't know if they just waited on hold too long and then they rethought about their story. But their story, when I looked at your call screen, looked really amazing. I think it could have added to this. So I don't know how we go back.

00:50:23 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to try to get her back on.

00:50:24 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. See if we can get this person back on because it's somebody that has dealt with exactly this. A couple of texters can't go on the air because it's still so fresh. This is 248. But my husband cheated on me right after we had our baby. It was the worst thing that happened to me at a time that I should have been so overjoyed. I was completely paranoid for years to come.

00:50:49 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 2:

See, I wonder how many people, like, want to leave their relationship and then just use the baby as, like, an excuse. Because I don't know how you, unless you just weren't happy at all. Because I don't know how you have a child and you're in love and then all of a sudden that just goes away. Like if you really are in love with this person and in love with this child, I don't know how that happens. Like it has to be something else.

00:51:13 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 3:

And that's the thing. We asked her that question. You know, we asked Lena this question. We said, hey, was he not, you know, during the pregnancy really good? She said, no, it was great. It was after she had the baby. What's up, Bart?

00:51:26 - 00:51:29 | Speaker 4:

Hey, why is everyone calling me Bart?

00:51:29 - 00:51:32 | Speaker 3:

Because your name says Bart on this thing here. What is your name?

00:51:33 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 4:

My name is Art. What's up?

00:51:35 - 00:51:35 | Speaker 3:

Art.

00:51:36 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 4:

Everyone's calling me. I'm like, Bart, Bart.

00:51:41 - 00:51:47 | Speaker 3:

Art, we'll fix it right now. We'll fix it on the call screen thing. I think you say it first time, long time. Are you first time, long time?

00:51:47 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, no, no, no, no. Hold on, hold on. Hey, long time, all the time. I got to our last week, remember? Okay, thank you.

00:51:55 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but we said it as Bart, though.

00:51:58 - 00:52:31 | Speaker 4:

So what's going on, bro? Hey, but I'm listening to this dude, right? And I'm not going to lie. I hold myself accountable for a lot of stuff. So when he did that little, uh-huh, uh-huh, she did this, Lena did this. I mean, dude's just playing or whatever. You know what I mean? Because I've done it before, but not in no relationship like that. Now, that happened to me. I got cheated on, and I tried to save face, save the relationship and everything. I ended up with my daughter. You know what I mean?

00:52:32 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 3:

So, wait, the mother of your child cheated on you.

00:52:35 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Listen, I got too many calls talking about something. I did this. I did that.

00:52:42 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 3:

We don't hear that often, the women who just had a baby going out and cheating.

00:52:46 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Talk on it, Art. Hey, honestly, I've never said this before. You know, like, it was a lot to take in. I was in a place, you know what I mean, where I couldn't do nothing. And, you know, I own my mistakes. You know what I mean? I had to change, you know, with the life I was given. You know, it was a struggle, but I'm not going to use that as an excuse. But when I walked out, I swear to God, I'll put this on everything I love. My daughter was right there both times. You know what I mean? Like, it sounds so horrible. I know it does, but I didn't have a ton of guidance growing up. I had to get it from the streets, from OGs and stuff like that. But, you know, like now, my daughter's 21. She graduated. She's smart, beautiful, intelligent, just one of a kind. And, you know, like I had full custody of her walking out. You know, when I went into court, I mean, I was scared to death. But, you know, I held my own and I got it. You know what I mean? But I just tell you what, you know, like my wife now, like my best friend, you know like she stepped in she helped the brother out you know i mean because i went through the struggle man we're living on the streets everything you know but long story short hey started from the bottom now we're here we love you no more judging no more judging you know what i mean that's not that's so nice to hear

00:54:13 - 00:54:24 | Speaker 3:

and you know what your daughter will be better for it because of you uh what's up asia going on this morning's War of the Roses just had a baby and he cheated on her. What's up?

00:54:26 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I was calling because I was married and my ex-husband actually had a baby on me when I was pregnant as well. We both had our babies about four months apart and he actually got another woman pregnant too.

00:54:43 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god.

00:54:45 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 1:

It was a whole lot going on.

00:54:48 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 2:

How did you find out about these other pregnancies?

00:54:51 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 1:

Well, he ended up telling me. He thought that we were going to have like a sister-wife situation, I guess.

00:54:57 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

So he was doing this intentionally. He was trying.

00:55:00 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 5:

to do this at the same time yes he was he was because she lost the baby at first and then went

00:55:05 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 3:

back and got her pregnant again she that guy by the way should be he should be castrated did you

00:55:11 - 00:55:23 | Speaker 5:

know these women at all or were they just random no i didn't they were random um but he brought us together like oh we're gonna be one big happy family and i actually tried for a minute but no

00:55:23 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 3:

Do the kids hang out with each other?

00:55:28 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 5:

Heck no. I haven't seen that man in like over 10 years.

00:55:33 - 00:55:38 | Speaker 3:

So he's not involved in your child's life. Is he involved in any of the other women's children's life?

00:55:39 - 00:55:44 | Speaker 5:

I think so. I had his second and third kid. He has probably like eight or nine now.

00:55:45 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 4:

So when you say you tried the sister wife thing, what does that mean?

00:55:51 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 5:

Well, when I had my son and then she had hers, she went back to work and I stayed home and I was taking care of my toddler, my newborn and her newborn. Oh, my goodness gracious. Yeah, I know. Right.

00:56:06 - 00:56:15 | Speaker 3:

Asia, this is like literally a reality show or or some kind of a movie. That's crazy. Well, is baby healthy and are you healthy?

00:56:16 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 5:

Well, my son now is 14 and I'm fine.

00:56:19 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 3:

That's great. Well, we love you, Asia. Women, like Shannon said, women are strong. They can give birth to babies, and you guys can deal with all kinds of crap. Thank you for calling in, and thanks for trusting us enough to share that story.

00:56:36 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 5:

It's been a long time. Yes, thank you.

00:56:39 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 3:

Love you.

00:56:39 - 00:56:41 | Speaker 2:

The home of the second date update.

00:57:17 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 3:

All right, Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:57:20 - 00:57:43 | Speaker 1:

Well, I teased this a little while ago. There was a big celebrity at Mariah's Christmas show in Brooklyn this week, the show that actually went on. A lot of her Christmas shows have been getting canceled. But this celebrity, her name just so happens to be Rihanna. Come on. Rihanna went to Mariah's concert. Asked Mariah to sign a body part. What do you want me to do next?

00:57:43 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 5:

Mariah. Okay. Whatever you want. Wow, this is iconic. On her what? On her breasts.

00:57:53 - 00:58:02 | Speaker 1:

On her boobs. Mariah Carey is kind of like, I actually got on the microphone. Mariah Carey signs my, I had to bleep it out, but it booms. Essentially. Isn't that funny?

00:58:03 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 3:

Man, oh man. What would you do? Would you ever keep it there? Have it tattooed right on you. Those are two superstars, huh? Two divas. Yes, indeed.

00:58:11 - 00:59:05 | Speaker 1:

I love when Swifties have theories on things and Taylor has now sparked rumors that she's engaged to Travis Kelsey after Swifties noticed a detail in some of the photos from a recent Eras tour themed 35th birthday party attended by a ton of people, including her bestie, Brittany Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes wife. Several photos show Taylor sipping on a cocktail. She's posing with all of the different Chiefs players, wives, and girlfriends. After closely examining the photos, one Swifty in particular pointed out to all of the others that Taylor's left ring finger looked blurred. And that sparked this wild theory that Taylor may have purposely edited out an engagement ring as not to reveal the news yet that Travis has already popped the question. Now, I looked very closely at these photos. They don't look blurred to me, but, I mean, Photoshop can be real good. So, what do I know?

00:59:06 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 4:

Lydia.

00:59:07 - 00:59:08 | Speaker 1:

Interesting theory, though.

00:59:10 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 4:

Lady. Yes. What do we think?

00:59:13 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 1:

I don't think they're engaged. Why?

00:59:15 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 5:

No, they're not. I feel like we would know. Like, we would just know. They would announce it.

00:59:20 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 2:

That's it. Like, Taylor would just tell us telepathically.

00:59:23 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 3:

That would be a Christmas announcement, though, wouldn't it? She'll do it on her time if they are. That would be a big Christmas announcement. They play on Christmas.

00:59:28 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 5:

That's lame on Christmas. Do they?

00:59:29 - 00:59:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they do. They play Pittsburgh.

00:59:32 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 1:

The Pittsburgh Steelers. And we don't know if she's going to be there or not. She has not come in. Casey's going. Swifties are investigators.

00:59:37 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 3:

I thought Casey's going to the, Casey told me he's going to the show. I don't know. Yeah. What's that?

00:59:42 - 00:59:42 | Speaker 1:

No, no, it's okay.

00:59:43 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 3:

No, what were you going to say? You guys don't want to hear anymore about the Swifties. I want to hear about Swifties. You guys are all crazy. Go ahead.

00:59:47 - 00:59:49 | Speaker 2:

Give us a sparkle. Next story, Shannon.

00:59:50 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, speaking of the Chiefs, kind of in the same vein, Patrick Mahomes went all out for his offensive line in terms of Christmas gifts. So I saw some photos of this, a locker room. Lined with.

01:00:00 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 4:

Red Yeti Tundra Hall wheeled coolers. And Mahomes essentially played Santa Claus by filling each cooler with some pretty amazing designer presents. Have you guys seen those Normatec Elite Air Compression Leg Massage attachments by Hyperice? My stepson wants those really bad. They're a thousand bucks a pop. Each of the coolers had one of those in them. All sorts of items from Adidas' Black Y3 line, as well as stuff from Louis Vuitton. And each one also had a Rolex in it. I mean, that is, that's an amazing gift.

01:00:33 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 3:

I do love that the quarterbacks all do that. They all buy their linemen these great gifts. If you're a quarterback that doesn't, do you think the next game you get sacked a bunch?

01:00:45 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 5:

How about, though, if you're a rookie and you're like, I didn't get that big line. I can't do that.

01:00:52 - 01:01:15 | Speaker 4:

The Charlotte Hornets are apologizing after an in-game promotion skit in which a lucky teenager got up. PlayStation 5 and then later had to give it back. It all happened during the Hornet 76ers game. A few young fans were called out onto the court to get Christmas presents from Hugo, the Hornets mascot, who was dressed as Santa Claus. Take a listen.

01:01:15 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 5:

I have another one here. It says, Dear Santa Hugo, I have been working hard in school all year and making sure my brains are full of games. I have also been working on my jump shot, but my jump shot in 2K needs some work. I'd really love a PlayStation if you have one. P.S. a PlayStation 5. Wait, Hugo, not the one my dad used to play with the square rounds.

01:01:39 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 4:

So Hugo, the mascot, gives 13-year-old Jack the PS5 in front of screaming fans at Spectrum Center. But then they took it back. No. They told him afterwards that they were going to swap it out for a jersey instead. I mean, once this hit social media, you can imagine the backlash that they got. So the next day, the Hornets apologized for this, saying in a statement that their little skit missed the mark. And reps for the team tell me they have reached out to the family. They're not only committed to making it right, but also to exceeding Little Jack's expectations. So they're gifting him with that PS5, but also a VIP experience to a future game.

01:02:20 - 01:02:22 | Speaker 3:

Pistons would never do something like that.

01:02:22 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 2:

Bro, never in a million years. I don't know how this comes to the game presentation staff and they sign off on it thinking it's a good idea and then actually execute it thinking no backlash will come.

01:02:33 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 5:

You know the marketing and social media team the next morning was like, are you kidding me? Yeah, oh my gosh. This is going to cost us money.

01:02:42 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 3:

That's an NBA story gone bad. Next hour you should do the Matt Ishbia story because that's a great story. I am going to, yeah.

01:02:47 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, a Colorado preschooler totally stole the show during her Christmas concert this week when she grabbed the microphone from her principal to make a hilarious announcement. This is a little girl named Story.

01:03:02 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 2:

I am very proud of myself and all of my other friends inside my class. And my class is really sweet. Except one little boy.

01:03:21 - 01:03:26 | Speaker 5:

I need to tell you about him. The principal, she's like, I need to tell you about him.

01:03:28 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 4:

The principal intervened, grabbed the mic back, story walked off stage smiling. All of her classmates were giving her the high fives for telling the truth or trying to tell the truth about this little boy. It turns out her mom said she took issue with this little boy in her class last year. He made a loud noise once and it terrified her. She never forgot about it. And so she was just going to out him on stage in front of everybody. Dude, I've been quoting that at my dad and brother every time I do something good and they do something bad, like make fun of me. Tomorrow at this time, as we prepare for the Throwback Throwdown, be listening, okay? So make sure you're listening. For sure. All right. Hold on one second. I want some information from you. All right. It is Mojo in the morning. Have you been a good girl or boy? Santa Claus is coming to town. You know what? I do want to talk about this. I wrote this down. I said, you know what? We got to do this as a topic. So Jels and I, we don't share gifts or exchange gifts for Christmas. Every day of her life is Christmas to her being married to me. seriously Saint Dick over here by the way

01:06:02 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 3:

like Richard

01:06:05 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 1:

yes exactly no but we don't really do it but I do like to give her a couple of things to open up

01:06:13 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 2:

because I was going to say I thought you did get

01:06:14 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 1:

I'll get some things and she gets mad at me for doing this but I like to get her a couple of things because the boys are opening up gifts and I want her to do it although she does say to me we should just wrap empty boxes because the boys never pay attention to what we got they all just sit there and look at what they got And then when we're opening it up, it's like, oh, what'd you get?

01:06:32 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 3:

Dude, talk to your sons.

01:06:34 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 1:

I know. Spoiled brats. But I was wondering with this, we have our kids write Santa letters, okay? So it gives an idea for Santa Claus to know exactly what to buy. Why don't we do adult Christmas letters? And if anybody does, I'd love to hear about this and how this started. But I think that if you're in a relationship or if you have brothers and sisters and you're just trying to figure out, like, how to buy for each other, what do you guys do? Like, this is a great idea, and it's a great way to not get crap, like, to not get stuff that you're going to want to go the day after Christmas and go return to the mall. That's what Amazon wishlists are for. Amazon wishlists are fun, but I'm telling you, I still think that they're not fun for kids. Like, you can't have kids do an Amazon wishlist. Well, you said adults. But big kids. I think your Amazon wish list is for you to, you know, put things in there that you one day hope to aspire to. But I think for others, I think you should get down and pen on paper and write a letter.

01:07:37 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm so curious if you like or hate what me and Santa Claus do, because I know Santa Claus. And he and I went to the mall last weekend. And the rule is you're allowed to go with Santa to buy your gifts. but Santa will not purchase said gift until you show that you can do a surprised face when you open it. So we'll stand at the checkout and do the, how did you know you got the exact one that I was asking for before Santa buys it?

01:08:04 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

That's where I take issue with this. Like, I think it's a really cute idea to do it for your spouse or whatever. Just you, like you said, Mojo, don't get crap. But I also am kind of hating now where people will ask me what I want or if I, you know, somebody will tell me exactly what they want. And I'm like, that ruins the fun. There's no surprise. It ruins the fun. There's no surprise. Like, I could just, I'll go out and get what I want and you go out and get what you want and then we call it a day instead of us having to wrap it. Like, there's no fun in that. Okay.

01:08:36 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 3:

My brother and my dad are my two favorite human beings on this planet. I love them more than anything. So before I harp on men, just know, these are my favorite people. You do not have a brother and a dad and no girls in your life because when it's just boys i got it you can tell she's got sisters i would really really say is is so much better on the holidays if i could just get what i asked for

01:09:00 - 01:09:22 | Speaker 2:

yeah like like i told and i do understand that uh like even with wes we're like we weren't supposed to do gifts and when we were christmas shopping for the kids the other day i would pick up something and he was like oh what size do you think that you'd be in that i'm like well i'm just gonna get it for myself then if i already know what it is it's no there's no magic in that boys though

01:09:22 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 4:

they have the weirdest gift suggestions because my brother aaron he's an engineer he just asked for a small block compatible with chevy chrome timing cover and i have to figure out where the hell to get that get in the zone auto zone they gave you ideas

01:09:36 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 3:

that looks like a metal toilet seat what is that or the ideas that i'm like no like my stepson wants

01:09:45 - 01:09:54 | Speaker 2:

welding stuff and so Wes was like we need to go get this this this this is the stuff he wants I'm like no no that's not fun

01:09:54 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 1:

no can I tell you what is a fun thing to do guys and I want everybody to try this at least with one thing

01:10:00 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 2:

Buy gifts for your significant others That you want to surprise them with Then surprise them with this one Go into their closet, grab something that they have And wrap it up And see if they recognize that they already own the thing And then if they say Well, oh, like if they get Kind of like a weird look on their face Then finally tell them that you just grabbed something From their closet and wrap it up What's up, Sam? How you doing?

01:10:24 - 01:10:26 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning, everyone Good morning

01:10:26 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 2:

What do you think of this adult Christmas list?

01:10:29 - 01:10:56 | Speaker 5:

I love it. And I found myself a game changer in 2019 when I got married. I have a, like, you know, we all put notes in our notepad. I have a specific note in there that says Christmas. And every time my husband says, oh, that would be cool to have, or oh, this or that, I put it in there. And now after five years, my husband does it for me so that we actually have, like, 20, 30 items by the end of the year, and we're good. That's actually a great idea.

01:10:57 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 2:

Actually, hold on. And Regina says that there, is there some kind of an app that does this for you, Regina?

01:11:02 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Yeah, we use Elfster.com. Oh, yeah. Elfster. Because we do, we actually do like Secret Santa as well. Okay. So it allows you to be able to, everybody can participate without anybody knowing who has to. And then you also get to pick what you want.

01:11:20 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 2:

I think you, like Elfster is a great idea. And I think that Amazon wish lists are a great idea. But I think there are sometimes, like, even just what Shannon was saying about her and Wes, walking through the mall. Like, Chelsea and I walked through the mall. I could see her look at things. And she was not there for the intention of buying her cell phone something. She was buying, you know, the boys' stuff. But it made me go, okay, this is good, because I can see what lights her up.

01:11:42 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 5:

So take notes, just not in front of her.

01:11:44 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. What's up, Beth? How you doing?

01:11:47 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 6:

Hey.

01:11:48 - 01:11:49 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's going on?

01:11:49 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 6:

So we make Google wish lists. We, like, put them on a Google slide, and you put the links to everything that you want. because we all got so sick of people buying stuff that we didn't want. We just make a link.

01:12:00 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 2:

That's stuff, by the way, that you should send out to, like, the bad aunts, the ones that buy the bad gifts, you know?

01:12:05 - 01:12:14 | Speaker 6:

And that's how it started because we were all sick of getting that ugly sweater from your aunt. And this way, it has to be all price range. Like, you can't make it real expensive. It has to be, like, across the board.

01:12:14 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I like that idea, although we did talk about how kids are putting PowerPoint presentations together for Santa. Prezies. What's up? How you doing, Courtney?

01:12:24 - 01:12:24 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:12:25 - 01:12:26 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up?

01:12:27 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 7:

Hi. So my fiance and I, we do categories every year. So we pick five categories and then base what we get each other off of that.

01:12:35 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 2:

Explain the categories. Give us an example.

01:12:37 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 7:

So we have like a shiny, something local, self-care, necessity. We usually do five every year. And then so you can make suggestions, but then it's really up to each other of what you get. And it's still a surprise, but you kind of have an idea of what you get. I love that.

01:12:54 - 01:12:59 | Speaker 2:

That's an amazing idea. Yeah, we're going to have to steal that idea. You mind if we steal that idea from you?

01:13:00 - 01:13:01 | Speaker 5:

Go for it.

01:13:01 - 01:13:07 | Speaker 2:

That's really cool. I like the idea of shiny, and I like the idea of the local thing, too. Any other categories that we should think about?

01:13:09 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 7:

We did hobby this year, too.

01:13:11 - 01:13:18 | Speaker 2:

Hobby is a good one, too. How about also something to do together, too, is another idea. You know what I mean? Find something that you can do together.

01:13:19 - 01:13:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we've done that, too. We've been doing this for five years now.

01:13:23 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 2:

Great idea, Courtney. Where are you from, Courtney?

01:13:26 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 7:

From Adrian's Thompson, Michigan area.

01:13:29 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 2:

It's Christmas, Courtney. Thank you. We love you. What's up, Adam? How you doing? I probably should have to get voice disguised because I think I'm probably going to get myself in trouble. All right, hold on a second. Hold on. Go ahead. Great to see you, Janae. What's going on, not Adam?

01:13:48 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 4:

So this is actually the reason I do not like Christmas. Man, what happened? They tell each other exactly what to get. They ask for their list. They'll get online and order it. Go to the store and buy it. Then they go home, wrap it individually. We go for Christmas Day, pull it from under the tree, and ask the prize and ooh and ah.

01:14:18 - 01:14:36 | Speaker 3:

Man. Yeah, but I know there's no fun in there. No, you weren't there for the Disappointed Christmas. You weren't there on the day they opened a blender and they asked for slippers. You weren't there that year. I'm there. We fixed it. I'm there for all the Disappointed Christmases now.

01:14:38 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 2:

I love that, though, that you guys buy the gifts, wrap them, and then they open up their gifts that they already know what they bought.

01:14:46 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, good spirit.

01:14:47 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 2:

And by the way, Adam, I need to ask you, Adam, what is your last name?

01:14:51 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 7:

I'm going to get in trouble, so I'm good. Thank you.

01:15:00 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 3:

You're a doo-doo head.

01:15:34 - 01:15:36 | Unknown:

Let's go. It's showtime.

01:15:36 - 01:16:38 | Speaker 3:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us. That War of the Roses that we did less than an hour ago. It was in the 7 o'clock hour. It's up on podcast right now. And might I say, not a lot of happy people that are listening to that War of the Roses when Lena found out that the father of her baby was cheating on her. if you missed it go check it out uh it's up on the podcast the mojo in the morning podcast and zach what's it labeled what's it titled as lena just had a baby all right so lena just had a baby it's up on the podcast it's already trending right now and people are commenting on it so go check that out coming up here in just a little bit we got to get megan in the christmas spirit uh then right after that what did kev find in his son's room and shannon with i'm so scared it's coming back what is it we'll find out coming up in the next 30 minutes right here on the mojo in the morning show megan yeah we got to get you in the christmas spirit what's

01:16:38 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 1:

going on i don't know what's going on this year man um it's funny that i just talked about going uh christmas shopping with santa and getting my own gifts i don't think that's the problem here Before you come at me and start saying that, that's something that we've been doing now for about 10 years. And I've been in the Christmas spirit past years. But I don't know what it is about this year. I don't know what's going on. I'm actually in the best place that I've ever been in my life. And I do not feel like it is Christmas at all. I am not in the Christmas spirit. It does not feel like Christmas. I mean, the temperatures are cold. Sometimes it's like a warm year and you're like in the Christmas spirit, but it doesn't feel like Christmas. I'm in neither. It doesn't feel like the holidays and I'm not like super excited. And this is my favorite time of year. This is like when I thrive. I talk about it all the time on the show. I love winter. I love the holidays like this. This is really where I kind of soar as a human being. And there was one year where I didn't decorate my apartment. Like I didn't put up a Christmas tree or anything and I hated it. I just, it didn't feel like Christmas. It felt like I missed out. And so I made a big deal this year about, like, I specifically decorated for fall and Thanksgiving and, like, actively changing that over to Christmas. Like, get yourself in the mood for it. And I live right by the tree in downtown Detroit where the ice rink is and all of the shopping. What are those little things called?

01:18:00 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 2:

The glass houses.

01:18:01 - 01:18:08 | Speaker 1:

The glass house. Like, there is Christmas around me. I have put on Christmas music, but it doesn't feel like Christmas.

01:18:08 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 3:

A lot of people are saying this this year. I don't know what the story is.

01:18:11 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 2:

had a conversation with all of my friends and every single one of us and i said it on the show the other day i don't feel very merry this year and i don't i don't know why i know i don't know i mean like i obviously have a lot of change going on more than normal but it there's something about like the the feeling or the vibe this year i i don't know what it is for everybody somebody told

01:18:33 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 3:

me that they think that the weather got you know really warm and then it kind of changed their spirit towards things and then a lot of people are saying honestly you know times are tough there's a lot of people that are kind of struggling you don't want to feel the spirit because you're afraid if you do it's like shoving it in people's faces but um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 anybody else feeling the same way i want to make it clear

01:18:58 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 1:

i'm good yeah like i'm fine you know like i'm not like sad i'm not any life is good Doesn't feel like Christmas.

01:19:05 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know what it is.

01:19:06 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 2:

Most years, most days, I'm rocking WNIC, our sister station in Detroit, on the way in and listening to, you know, Band-Aid and Wham! and Mariah Carey. And this year, I'm like, I'll just listen to the news on the way in. Why do I feel that way? Why? I don't know.

01:19:25 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 3:

It's depressing. I don't know. Boy, look at these texts. A lot of people texting up and telling us they say the same thing. If you're looking for weather to change your mind, we've got some snow coming our way.

01:19:38 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 2:

Monday, Tuesday, yeah.

01:19:39 - 01:19:47 | Speaker 3:

And tomorrow, tonight, during the overnight, tomorrow's drive should be like what it was last week when we were driving it. It is going to be. What's up, Sarah? How you doing?

01:19:49 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. I can completely agree with Megan. This year has just been really rough for my family and stuff. I'm getting a lot of...

01:20:00 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 5:

family changes and like a death too um so i completely agree with megan it's like hard for me and my family to get in the christmas spirit this year when you're talking about a lot of

01:20:10 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 2:

family changes obviously the death is a huge change but what are some of the other changes

01:20:14 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 5:

going on just like how how people are handling it and stuff it's not like something i like to

01:20:22 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 2:

talk about on the radio yeah um who died if you don't mind me asking is it a mom or or dad my

01:20:29 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 5:

grandpa my grandpa and it's like it's really hard we're trying to make my grandma you know

01:20:35 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 1:

happy as can be and stuff but it's sometimes really hard i'm gonna start crying i'm so sorry you really feel it especially around the holiday yeah yeah and i'm gonna say something as well

01:20:49 - 01:20:55 | Speaker 5:

i was just like i like it's different this year for sure well we hope that listening to our show

01:20:55 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 2:

kind of helps put you in the mood, minus this topic. But I also hope that some of the things that we're doing, like I've heard a lot of people say our breaking and entering Christmas wishes, have made them realize how blessed they are, even in times when they're experiencing losses just like you are. And we're thinking of you, Sarah. We're going to pray for you. Okay? Praying for your family. Thank you. I love you guys.

01:21:16 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 4:

We love you, too.

01:21:17 - 01:21:18 | Speaker 2:

Jamal, what's up?

01:21:19 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? Hey, Megan, man. I feel that. I feel that. Um, and I will say you guys do bring spirit to me in the morning. I really enjoy listening to you guys. Um, no, I just feel like as we get older, it just does get that feel. I mean, even with Halloween, you know, Thanksgiving, it just feels, my birthday even. I just felt like there's just, it's not a whole lot of spirit to things as we get older. So I feel like.

01:21:44 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 1:

How do we fix that? Like, okay, so here's where I fall with the last couple of holidays. Halloween, I still love. Even as an adult, it's fun to pass out candy. I actually think it's more fun as an adult on Halloween than it probably was as a kid. Then Thanksgiving is more stressful than anything. I love it. Don't get me wrong. I love spending time with my loved ones. But it's like a lot of work. And now this is rolling around and I'm like, this is financially draining. And I don't know. It's just like not fun anymore.

01:22:12 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Like I feel like as a kid, we didn't have any responsibility. You just had to show up and have the fun. And all the responsibility was on the elders. And now that the elders are either too old to be that engaged or they've passed on, the responsibility is on us, and we're just not stepping up to the plate. Well, it's time to step up.

01:22:30 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 4:

And I think they're just financially drained. I mean, I feel like that's it. It's just a lot of financial draining. You put so much effort into it, it's like, okay.

01:22:38 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 2:

But it doesn't have to be things that you're buying financially. Like, it could just be the spirit of being decorating and being around a tree or honestly just seeing snowfall outside of your window sometimes.

01:22:49 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 3:

I tried that one time. They say it's the thought that counts. So I try to give my family members my thoughts. They didn't receive it well. Oh, my God.

01:22:59 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 2:

Sierra, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:23:02 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I totally agree. I was just going to say that I think it's financially draining. You know, we've done it almost every year for our whole life. So it's like, what's next? And you get those two days, you spend Christmas Eve and Christmas, and then you get the memories, but then I look after the memories.

01:23:18 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 2:

You know what, though? And I get it. How old are you?

01:23:23 - 01:23:24 | Speaker 6:

I'm 27.

01:23:25 - 01:23:36 | Speaker 2:

And I think, honestly, this is kind of the thing, you know? It's kind of the thing of you do, you got to, like, try to carry it on, you know what I mean? Otherwise, it's like you're going to stay in that depression.

01:23:38 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and I know this is the first year without my father. You know, he just passed eight months ago. So this is the first Christmas without him. And I just really want to stay busy. I don't really want to be cheerful. Question for you.

01:23:48 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 2:

How would your dad want you to celebrate Christmas?

01:23:52 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 6:

I think my dad would want me to save as much money as I could.

01:23:55 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 2:

But how would he want you to experience Christmas? Would he want you to be down, or would he want you to be happy and enjoy Christmas?

01:24:03 - 01:24:11 | Speaker 6:

I think he would want me to make sure my brothers and sisters have a nice Christmas. Just keep the tradition alive.

01:24:11 - 01:24:11 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:24:12 - 01:24:14 | Speaker 2:

Then you know what? We got to carry on his traditions, right?

01:24:16 - 01:24:16 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:24:16 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 2:

I know sometimes it's hard, but sometimes it's, I mean, listen, I've talked about my mom dying. My mom died when I was 14 years old, and I will say this to you, that no Christmas was worse than that Christmas. I will say this to you, my sisters all said, mom loved Christmas. So it was one of those things where it's like you have to do it. And honestly, sometimes if you're not around kids, you don't do it. You know what I mean? And I think you almost have to, like, see it through the eyes of kids, see it through the eyes of what you remember as your best Christmases ever.

01:24:44 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. We're just going to get the good food no more, the jokes, the empty boxes under the tree. Like, I'm not going to get none of that no more. So it's like it's not going to be the same. It's going to be Christmas, but it's not going to be that special Christmas, what made it Christmas.

01:24:59 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm.

01:25:00 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 3:

I think we're all smoking too much weed and drinking too much alcohol, and we're all depressed.

01:25:03 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 5:

I don't even do either of those anymore.

01:25:05 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 3:

I think we're all depressed right now.

01:25:07 - 01:25:08 | Speaker 5:

Maybe that's why. Maybe we need to start doing those again.

01:25:08 - 01:25:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it might be.

01:25:09 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 5:

Bring back the merriment.

01:25:10 - 01:25:20 | Speaker 4:

Bruh, I haven't smoked weed in a long time. I may or may not have taken an edible a couple weeks ago. Whoa, whoa, it messed me up. I was like, how did I do this all the time?

01:25:20 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 3:

Melanie, put us in the spirit right now. Melanie, what's up?

01:25:25 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I'm just thinking that maybe the reason why some of us are feeling the way we're feeling is because we're losing the reason for the season. And if we just really embrace the birth of Christ and what Christmas is and what that means, going to church, doing the Advent calendar, lighting your candles, just really, you know, embracing it, maybe we wouldn't be lost in the commercial end of things.

01:25:54 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 5:

I love that you said that. I'm going to post a video to, I'll post it to my Instagram, and it's a Santa, it's Santa Claus talking about just that, the reason for the season and what makes Christmas so special. And that's such a good reminder. I need to watch it again because you're right. You're absolutely right.

01:26:11 - 01:26:12 | Speaker 3:

Hey, thank you for the call, Melanie.

01:26:13 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, thank you. Merry Christmas.

01:26:15 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 3:

Merry Christmas. I do think that the reason for the season, obviously, for those that are believers, is that. And then the other reason for the season, too, is there ain't nothing better than some fat guy that we allow to come into our house, eat our food, eats and drinks our, you know, milk and cookies stuck in our chimney. Sometimes people say that he's making out with mom or, you know, grandma got run over by a reindeer. What are some of the other ones? There's a hippopotamus somewhere.

01:26:44 - 01:26:46 | Speaker 5:

Bring in some teeth, some front teeth.

01:26:46 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, front teeth. By the way, you understand that if Santa Claus and the whole thought of Santa Claus came around nowadays, they would have put that son of a bitch in jail and they would have never let him come to somebody's house. They would have thought he was one of those gangs from another country coming to rob our homes. That bastard, Mike Bouchard, would have had handcuffs on that guy so fast. Tis the season for some mojo.

01:27:14 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 2:

Fa-la-la-la, la-la-la, la-la-la. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:27:20 - 01:27:34 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to bring us to the spirit of the season right now. And I'm going to, before we get into our next topic, we're all going to do a little Christmas caroling. All right? I love it. I'm going to play some songs, and we all, as a show, are going to carol together. Can we do this? Can we do this?

01:27:35 - 01:27:35 | Unknown:

Sure.

01:27:36 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 3:

Can we do this? Yes. I mean, seriously, guys. This is the spirit of the season. I'm with it. All right? You ready? What are we singing? Well, let me see here. Hold on one second. Ready? I'm going to pick out some songs. And I'm going to make sure that we have songs that all will know. These are all songs that you should know. And if you don't know these songs, you're a Grinch. Hold on a second. Where are we at here? Oh, here we go. Ready? First one here. You know the song.

01:28:06 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I just came back from a lovely trip along the Milky Way. I stopped off at the North Pole. To spend the holiday. I called on dear old Santa Claus just to see what I could see. And you know, he took me to his workshop. And he told his plans to me. Are we ready? All of us. So you better watch out.

01:28:30 - 01:28:34 | Speaker 5:

You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why.

01:28:34 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 3:

Santa Claus is coming to town. I can't hear you, Lydia.

01:28:39 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, he's amazing. He's checking it twice.

01:28:43 - 01:28:44 | Speaker 3:

Come on, KP.

01:28:44 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 4:

Naughty or nice Santa Claus is coming to town Where you at, cat? I'm ready for the Jackson 5 He sees when you're sleeping He knows when you're awake Okay, you creep He knows when you're in battle So be good for goodness sake

01:29:02 - 01:29:02 | Speaker 5:

Probably not

01:29:02 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 2:

You better watch out and you better not cry And you better not pout I'm telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town

01:29:13 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Hold on. It is the spirit of the season on the Mojo in the Morning Show. We're going to see Mommy kissing Santa Claus next.

01:29:26 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 4:

Go off. First off. The snowman was a jolly, happy soul. With a corncob pipe and a buttoned nose and twice made out of coal. Frosty the Snowman is a fairy-telling saint He was made of snow, but the children know

01:29:46 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 5:

How he came to life one day

01:29:48 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 4:

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat he found For when he placed it on his head, he began to dance around Steve the snowman

01:30:01 - 01:30:08 | Speaker 3:

I love that guy There we go Now give me Kanye Christmas in Harlem

01:30:08 - 01:30:12 | Speaker 4:

I saw a mama Kissing Santa Claus

01:30:12 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 1:

This is Santa And Megan No, I will not kidnap And rap in a box As you've noted Some fine men Under the tree this year Oh Heavens to Betsy Ho, ho, ho Come on, Santa.

01:30:31 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the morning. Kevin found a nice little surprise in, is it in Josiah's room where this happened?

01:30:37 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so movers are coming today. Big shout out to two men in the truck. They're coming today, moving all the stuff. And I will be in my place tonight, first sleep tonight. Hey. Incredibly excited for that. Yeah, yeah. Incredibly excited for that.

01:30:49 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 4:

You're going to have a very quick drive in tomorrow, thank God, because it's not supposed to be great.

01:30:53 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. I'm very excited for that. So I am preparing for the move, and even though they're going to pack up things, I still kind of want to get it started or get it situated to kind of make it easier in the transition. And I need to make sure that everything that I need to go is ready to go. So I'm going through Josiah's room and going through his closet, which is a mess. And half of that is on him, but the majority of it is on me. And as I'm going through the closet, finding different things, also putting away bags to, you know, give to the Salvation Army or whatever the case may be, clothes and shoes, he's outgrown. I'm getting into the depths of the closet, way back in the back. And in the back, I see a water bottle that does not have water in it. It has brown piss in it. Literally 100% apple juice. I have no idea. That is so sick that kids do it. Joe, I've done it before, but I don't know how long it was in there at all. And it was like stuff was growing in there. I promise you, that's how long it was in there. So Josiah on the computer, I'm like, Josiah! He turned around, he like, I'm like, what the? And I throw it at him. I'm like, what the hell is this? You threw it at him? Yeah, not that he could, like, catch it, but, like, it hit the floor. I wish he twisted that bottle closed. It was closed. It was so closed. We moving anyway, so it could have gotten on the carpet. They could keep the deposit. That's where I'm at with it at this point. I thought on the carpet, he like, oh, I forgot. He thinks it's the funniest thing in the world. He's giggling, he's laughing.

01:32:18 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 4:

Isn't that the thing that every boy does? And he's not a teenage boy, but most teenage boys, They don't ever go to the bathroom, which is probably five more steps away. I've had it. And they pee in a bottle. They like to pee in the bottle there. That is the ultimate laziness. It's just easy. Smith will be doing this, by the way, one day. I will kill him. He will. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I know there's some parents listening to this thing. Or, you know, maybe you were a kid that peed in a bottle. Or maybe you are an adult that pees in a bottle. We'd love to hear from yours. What's up with the pee bottle?

01:32:51 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that was just one of the bottles. There were two. He had two bottles in there that I found. He was even more surprised and shocked at the second one.

01:32:59 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 4:

By the way, what did Josiah think when you found it? Was he embarrassed? No, he was laughing.

01:33:03 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 3:

He thought it was the funniest thing in the world. He opened it. He was like, it doesn't smell. Smell. I'm like, bro, get that out of my face. I'm not trying. He's like, no, do it. Just do it.

01:33:11 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 4:

Kids are so proud. They're so proud about it, too. Smell like ammonia. Although, I'll be honest with you.

01:33:16 - 01:33:17 | Speaker 3:

He like, squalls the bottle.

01:33:17 - 01:33:21 | Speaker 4:

I'll be honest with you. Oh, my God. Did you wash your hands after you touched that bottle?

01:33:22 - 01:33:24 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't. I just kept cleaning.

01:33:25 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 4:

What else did you find that was interesting to you?

01:33:27 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 3:

Anything? Just that. I mean, nothing's more interesting than pee bottles with, like, kidney stones at the bottom of it. I don't know what to do.

01:33:34 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 4:

What the hell you be eating? Hey, Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:33:38 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 2:

Hi. First time, long time. Hey.

01:33:43 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 4:

What's your name? I didn't catch it.

01:33:46 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 2:

My name is Sonny. Sonny on the phone.

01:33:49 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Sonny?

01:33:52 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, so I wanted to add on to that about Josiah's water bottle. When I was a kid, my mom had this strange smell in the hallway, and she could not get to it, and she, you know, de-cleaned the floor, de-cleaned the walls. So she figured out that it was coming from this plant. That was a exotic plant. um so yeah so i i when i was like five or six i said of you know like you said instead of walking into the fiber or 10 feet to the to the bathroom i was just going into the plant i need to take

01:34:27 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 4:

that is funny you would pee in your mom's plants it didn't die though

01:34:32 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 2:

i'd rather have you do it in the bottle than my plant yes what's up c how you doing and i said

01:34:40 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 4:

C, not P. What's going on, C?

01:34:43 - 01:34:47 | Speaker 2:

Yes. My boyfriend is amazing.

01:34:48 - 01:34:53 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Your phone sounds bad because you're on a Bluetooth that's really bad. So pull either. You there?

01:34:54 - 01:34:54 | Speaker 2:

Not bad. Is that better?

01:34:55 - 01:34:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, much better. What's going on?

01:34:57 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, my boyfriend

01:35:00 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 6:

It works for Amazon, and he can't stop all the time, so he peeves in the bottle every time. But it's not worse because now he brings it home. Now, like, I'm talking about... Why?

01:35:10 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 4:

On his Amazon truck, he has a pee bottle?

01:35:14 - 01:35:19 | Speaker 6:

Yes, you know. It's not just him. Everybody does it, but that's probably where it gets bad. I get that part.

01:35:19 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 2:

I get that part, but then she said he brings it home to get rid of it. Why not throw it in a dumpster at one of your locations or something?

01:35:26 - 01:35:30 | Speaker 3:

Or a garbage can or something like that. What's worse, throwing it away or just, like, pouring it out?

01:35:30 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 4:

No, you got to just throw it in the garbage somewhere.

01:35:33 - 01:35:35 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. You got to dump it.

01:35:35 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 3:

You got to pour it out.

01:35:36 - 01:35:37 | Speaker 4:

Recycle it.

01:35:37 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no. Somebody in that, like, trash sorting facility is going to smash that bottle, and it's going to spray them with pee.

01:35:44 - 01:35:46 | Speaker 4:

Spray is crazy. What's up, Jeanette?

01:35:48 - 01:35:48 | Speaker 7:

Hi.

01:35:49 - 01:35:49 | Speaker 4:

Hi there.

01:35:49 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 7:

First time, long time. Hey, Jeanette. I never thought I would call. I never thought I'd call, but I just thought this was so hilarious. You did it. because this has happened to me not once but twice i have twin boys and they uh yeah they like to pee in bottles too so um apparently i had some gatorade bottles in my back seat and they peed in there and i didn't realize i didn't clean out my car but one time i was driving and i was super sick and i needed something to drink and i was like oh my god awesome i got a gatorade bottle took a huge He and I just threw up everywhere. I was like, oh, my gosh. And my kids thought it was the funniest thing. But then they did it again a couple months later. And stupid me, I did the same thing again. I was like, oh, I'm so thirsty. I should have known better. But, yeah, not only once, but twice. I drank my boy's pee.

01:36:41 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 2:

I straight up would put my kids up for adoption. I would like.

01:36:45 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 7:

I know. We had a long conversation out there. I was like, never again.

01:36:49 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 3:

She had twins, so she had to do it twice.

01:36:52 - 01:37:01 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever, like, get dropped off at your grandparents' house because your parents needed a break? Like, that would be one of those where, like, I'm not saying anything. You're going to grandma and grandpa's. I'll see you tomorrow.

01:37:02 - 01:37:04 | Speaker 4:

Jessica, where did you catch your son peeing?

01:37:06 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. My son used to pee in his bedroom vent. In the vent?

01:37:14 - 01:37:15 | Speaker 9:

No.

01:37:15 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 1:

It was awful. His room started smelling like tea, and I'm like, what is going on? He didn't see the bed. Like, oh, yeah, I found out he was in the middle of the night. He was just walking up to his vet and peeing it. Oh, my God.

01:37:27 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 4:

These kids are savages. That's crazy. Krista, what's up, Krista?

01:37:32 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 8:

Hey, first time, long time.

01:37:33 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Krista. Hey, Krista's on the phone.

01:37:37 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my God, I'm so excited. I never thought I'd get proof. I'm so excited. We love you. So my husband used to plow snow, and when he'd be plowing in the middle of the night, there would be nowhere room to stop to use the restroom. a lot of times he would just pee in bottles and then like a couple days later i got in the truck one time and there was like 10 or 15 bottles in there because it's been over like a couple day period it was absolutely disgusting that's funny oh my god he's got them all there he's got to

01:38:07 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 4:

throw those things away ryan says he wants to call me out what's up ryan mojo do you remember

01:38:13 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 5:

four or five years ago, Summit Place Kia was doing the grand opening in Auburn Hills. I know. And you peed in the Gatorade bottles? I did. I told the story on the air. Yes? I don't remember that.

01:38:25 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 4:

We were at a Summit Place Kia, which, shout out to Tanya Lalonde at Summit Place Kia. Summit Place Pee. And I did. I told the story. I peed in their parking lot in a Gatorade bottle. Why didn't you just go in and pee? Because I got there too early. I got it too early for the grand opening, but yeah. That's funny, man. You're definitely a long-time listener of the show. I appreciate you, buddy. What's up, Tanya? Not Tanya Lalonde, but Tanya?

01:38:52 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Joe. I'm a long-time listener, first-time caller.

01:38:55 - 01:38:58 | Speaker 9:

Hey, Tanya. What's going on?

01:39:01 - 01:39:18 | Speaker 5:

Two parts. My boyfriend, he writes around with me. He doesn't have to have any reason to pee in a bottle. I go in the store. I had bought a Werner's prior. I go in the store. He used my Werner's bottle. He's sitting there watching me Not paying attention I pick it up And the rest is history

01:39:18 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 9:

Oh my god Did you break up? No, no, no, no, no

01:39:22 - 01:39:23 | Unknown:

Sick

01:39:23 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 5:

I thought I was drinking burners And I mean, seriously He has a serious problem All my boys I have five sons And my boyfriend Rides around with bottles

01:39:33 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 2:

That's a different kind of spicy Than I was expecting Different kind of crispy

01:39:40 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's awful By the way, Tanya

01:39:42 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 5:

I've got a question for you.

01:39:44 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:39:45 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 5:

I've got a question for you, Mojo. I've been trying to reach the staff there for about two years now. Me and my kids have been homeless. I lost my home, my vehicle, and everything. We've been sleeping in my vehicle. I had a lady.

01:40:00 - 01:40:13 | Speaker 4:

from the Presbyterian Church downtown sending you guys letters, but it's been so much tragedy going on with other people. I just felt like my problem wasn't that big, being homeless and, you know, sleeping in my car. It's people dining out here. But if somebody could...

01:40:13 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 5:

Tanya, real quick, just stop right there. Where are you right now?

01:40:19 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 4:

I'm in Mount Clemens right now. Me and my family are homeless.

01:40:23 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 5:

Lydia.

01:40:25 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:40:25 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 5:

Let's write her a check for breaking and entering Christmas wish. Let's get her somewhere to stay.

01:40:30 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:40:30 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Tanya?

01:40:33 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:40:34 - 01:40:42 | Speaker 5:

Tanya, can you, do you have the ability to, I mean, I don't know, what were your plans today? What are you doing today?

01:40:43 - 01:40:51 | Speaker 4:

I had no plans today. My transmission went out on my car. We're just messed up this year. I lost everything that I own to me and my kids. I lost everything.

01:40:53 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 5:

Lydia, how far is Mount Clemens from, because I'm going to give Lydia a ride home today because she doesn't have a car today. How far is Mount Clemens from Macomb? It's not that far, right?

01:41:02 - 01:41:02 | Speaker 4:

Only five minutes.

01:41:03 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 5:

Tanya, Lydia and I personally are going to drop a check off to you today.

01:41:08 - 01:41:10 | Speaker 4:

Thank you so much.

01:41:10 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 2:

Tanya, stay on the line so I can get your address.

01:41:13 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, she doesn't have an address. She's living in her apartment.

01:41:15 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 2:

Oh, where she is at. Oh, where she is at.

01:41:17 - 01:41:29 | Speaker 5:

Oh, where she is at. I'm sorry. That's what I'm talking about. Okay. All right. Tanya, stay there. Lydia is going to get information from you so that we can meet up with you. and we're going to make sure this Christmas that you're having a roof over your head, okay?

01:41:30 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much.

01:41:32 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 5:

All right, hold on, okay?

01:41:34 - 01:41:38 | Speaker 3:

Because we have nothing. I mean, no food, no night, no coats, clothes, nothing. We've got nothing.

01:41:39 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're going to take care of you, okay? We love you.

01:41:43 - 01:41:45 | Speaker 3:

All right, thank you so much. God bless.

01:41:45 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 5:

Tanya, we love you. Hold on one second. Love you.

01:41:48 - 01:41:49 | Unknown:

Oh, man.

01:41:50 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 5:

All right, and we're talking about the spirit of the season earlier. And honestly, think about that when you're driving right now and you're pissed off at that guy that's next to you that cut you off.

01:42:01 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 2:

Great reminder.

01:42:03 - 01:42:04 | Speaker 5:

All right. Mojo in the morning.

01:42:05 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 2:

Shannon's dirty. Is Shannon pretty dirty at Dirty 30? Yeah.

01:42:10 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 5:

All right. Shannon with the dirty coming up here next. And we're going to also give you a chance to win Nelly and Ja Rule tickets. So we'll have those for you in just a little bit. It's Mojo in the morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The text is 95500. Shannon is scared that it's coming back. What's going on, Shannon?

01:42:35 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 1:

So I don't know if you guys have ever, if I've ever told you this story, but when I was a little girl, I had all sorts of health things going on. I was born an asthmatic and was always I was in the hospital more than I was out of the hospital with asthma attacks and those sorts of things. But I also have really severe allergies and really severe eczema when I was little, especially to the point where I was being treated at various hospitals for it. I had no eyebrows or hair on my arms because I would I would scratch so hard that areas of my body were raw and bloody. And every single night I had to be wrapped in this black tar like substance. And my dad would cover would wrap my arms and my legs in gauze. So I would lay in my bed like a mummy to try to like help it get better. And I was such a scary sight in public. my dad always tells me this story about how parents would gasp and pull their children in closer when they saw me because i i was terrifying looking um i finally started to get better maybe when i was in second or third grade and i looked quote unquote normal aside from my horrible bowl haircut which i still blame my mom for um but i don't know what's going on lately i don't know if it's like my body changing perimenopause real bitch or or what's going on but it is coming back with a vengeance and Megan knows this because every day I complain like I want to rip my eyelids off of my face my arms and my legs are covered in it again I just started steroid cream and steroids again for it but I'm so scared that and it is such a vain thing to say but that it's going to happen again and my face is going to look the way that it looked when I was in preschool kindergarten in first grade and I won't be able to do anything about it because it just it like attacks your body

01:44:26 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 2:

it's so weird it's crazy I don't have it nearly as bad as you do but I do think it's funny we almost have like a medical grade equipment I have eczema really bad on my hands really bad on my hands and you'll walk in it it's throughout the year we have like really cute like like scent nice smelling lotions or whatever this time of year it's like here's the medical grade it smells like crap but it's thick and my hands aren't going to physically crack and bleed you're welcome

01:44:51 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 1:

it's my eyelids lately that like my face is i i try so hard to not touch my face but i want to rip my eyelids out of off of my face that's how bad it feels like it's burning the reasoning is is it the weather because you say

01:45:04 - 01:45:26 | Speaker 5:

at this time of the year no i honestly think it's hormone changes in my body i i have an appointment to go see a doctor uh about this but it's just like one of those things where i it affected my childhood so much and i i always think how grateful i am to not have that issue and again it's a total vanity thing but it was really bad i'll have to show you guys some pictures um and i i just don't

01:45:26 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 1:

people would look at you and not want to i looked like i really i looked like a burn victim yeah

01:45:32 - 01:45:35 | Speaker 5:

i'll have to have my dad send me some photos because i know he has a bunch of them my mom too

01:45:35 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 1:

but it's amazing when when you you know you'll see people that will have uh some kind of a you know a skin irritation or i don't even know what it is and for people to sit there and stare is like the worst yeah they know they have it and for people that to act that way is is crazy uh taylor what's up it's mojo in the morning shannon you should totally use coconut

01:45:58 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 7:

oil i've had actually my issues my entire life have you yeah i've tried i wish that worked i

01:46:06 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 5:

mean even the steroid cream that i'm using right now is not doing a darn thing i've had the same

01:46:11 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 7:

issues my whole life and the steroids have never helped even a little bit but um yeah the coconut oil definitely did the trick for me um something else i have heard works is sea salt baths oh okay

01:46:26 - 01:46:38 | Speaker 5:

i've been told bleach baths too like yeah put some bleach in a bathtub and sit in it it's actually safe for you but that it terrifies me i can't do it what about oatmeal i remember doing that

01:46:38 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 1:

when i had the chicken pox yeah yeah that's why i brought it up i didn't know if it could transfer a lot of people a lot of people say red light therapy is a big deal too a lot of people are doing it on red light therapy on text message here.

01:46:48 - 01:46:52 | Speaker 5:

Which is interesting because I use that mask, but it has my eyes cut, like the eyes

01:46:52 - 01:46:56 | Speaker 1:

part is cut out. Have you took a bath in Sauvignon Blanc?

01:46:56 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 5:

That helps everything.

01:46:58 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 1:

Worth a try. Marisa, what's up?

01:47:02 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 4:

Hi, first time in a long time. Hey, Marisa.

01:47:06 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 1:

Mary Marisa.

01:47:08 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 4:

Mary Marisa. Mary Kareem meet everybody. Shannon, I went through something similar and frick health menopause perimenopause okay number one um it started and i was scratching all over waking up at night scratching scratching scratching it's insane and it's everywhere and then when you get one scratch it starts somewhere else um zyrtec start taking zyrtec at night do you

01:47:33 - 01:47:38 | Speaker 5:

know i take it every single day every day i take it but i take it in the morning oh you take it in

01:47:38 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 4:

the morning okay sometimes if it's bad enough i mean they say to take it once a day but maybe maybe when you see your doctor they'll tell you to take it twice a day but um um yeah that they might take tell you to take it twice a day but uh then then i'm not is this part of uh menopause

01:47:55 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 1:

because i know you talked about that before about perimenopause oh yeah really so it comes back it starts early and it comes back later man that was perry uh it's like the really fun 10 years

01:48:08 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 5:

leading up to actual... We got a fine, we got a fine. I thought it was a Commodore. Like, we're going to give you a little teaser

01:48:14 - 01:48:17 | Speaker 1:

of what's about to happen. What's up, Nick?

01:48:18 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'm 21 years old. I was 14 is when I first got my eczema. That was real bad. After a couple years, it went away. But the last five months, it's been the worst it's ever been, especially on my eyelids.

01:48:31 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that so weird?

01:48:34 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 3:

I've never understood why it came out, but the last five months, it's been hell.

01:48:39 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm with you.

01:48:40 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 3:

My dermatologist told me to switch. I usually do Zyrtec. I've been doing Zyrtec my whole life. She told me to switch to Claritin because it helps better for the inside of your body. I don't know.

01:48:52 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 1:

Nick, is the pain worse or is it that you feel like people are looking at you because you got the looks worse?

01:48:59 - 01:49:07 | Speaker 2:

No, I mean, it's not terrible. Like, I did the steroid cream now. And honestly, once you're out of the steroid cream, it comes right back. It does.

01:49:07 - 01:49:11 | Speaker 1:

Man. Yeah. Man, a lot of people dealing with this. Samantha, what's up?

01:49:13 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 6:

Hi there. How are you guys this morning? Good morning.

01:49:15 - 01:49:15 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

01:49:16 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 6:

So I have the same thing, and so does my son, Stan, and I went to the dermatologist, and he told me to put one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in your water bottle, like, you know, a normal 16-ounce water bottle. Yeah. And drink that. It has been the only thing that works.

01:49:36 - 01:49:36 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:49:36 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 5:

I am going to do that literally as soon as I get home.

01:49:39 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 1:

They say apple cider vinegar is like the cure for all, everything.

01:49:42 - 01:49:43 | Speaker 5:

I will do it.

01:49:43 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 6:

You guys, it is the only thing that has worked for me. And drink it with a straw because you don't want them. It'll mess up your enamel on your teeth if you drink it like straight to your teeth. You know what I'm saying? If you do it every day. But I do it once a day. It has made my skin clear. It has cleaned up everything.

01:50:00 - 01:50:07 | Speaker 1:

I've used steroid creams. I've done everything everybody has suggested. Apple cider vinegar is the only thing that has worked for me.

01:50:07 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Why is it this topic is making my skin itch? Like, why is that?

01:50:12 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 2:

I want to claw mine off. Really? That's what it feels like, yeah.

01:50:15 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 3:

I've noticed lately that you've seemed like you're more either congested or coughing or something like that. Has it anything to do with that or no? What the heck's going on?

01:50:23 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not that. It's we can't reach our cough buttons anymore.

01:50:26 - 01:50:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is that what it is?

01:50:27 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you just hear my... Oh, he cheated on his wife with you, and now you're going to be together forever?

01:50:35 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 3:

War of the Roses coming up at 9 o'clock this morning. We're going to get a prize off in the Dirty, and then we'll kick off what's going to be a good second half of the show. We actually are kicking the second half of the show off right now. Isn't that crazy to think? We've been here for only a half of a show. What's going on with the Dirty today? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Win Nelly and job rule tickets while Shannon does the dirty. 844 Mojo Live. 95th caller. The show's not until summer, but it will be a fun show to go to. What's going on, Shannon?

01:51:05 - 01:52:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay, it's so funny that I was not the only one that thought this when I saw it. Khloe Kardashian has shared a whole bunch of photos and videos of the absolutely stunning Christmas decorations inside of her $17 million California mansion. And it's very simple, but it's so beautiful. But there was one detail that I noticed was quite dangerous. And I was apparently not the only one. It was a clip that she shared to her Insta stories. And she had all of this like fresh Christmas tree garland and like evergreen swigs and branches, whatever, used as decoration down the middle of her dining room table and on like her cabinets and stuff. But nestled in all of this greenery were like dozens and dozens of real lit candles. Wait, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Yeah, so people were like, you know, responding and commenting about what a huge fire hazard that is. Candle fires, by the way, cause an estimated 16,000 house fires, 150 deaths and more than 1,200 injuries each holiday.

01:52:19 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Do you think she just did it for the picture, or do you think she has that all the time like that?

01:52:23 - 01:53:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't know, but... Is it worth the risk? Still, just, yeah, be careful. I don't know. Diddy has reportedly lost a whole bunch of weight while sitting his butt behind bars at that Metropolitan Detention Center where he is in Brooklyn. That, according to a journalist who attended a hearing in his federal sex trafficking case yesterday, law and crime reporter Elizabeth Milner was in the courtroom. No cameras are allowed in there, but she said he appeared just astonishingly thinner and his hair is totally gray right now as well. Billie Eilish just sat down for her annual interview that she does with Vanity Fair. I think this is her eighth year doing it. So good. So good. And so what she does is she reflects on her past year by seeing how she answered the exact same questions in previous years while giving thumbs up or thumbs down indicating whether or not she achieved her goals for this year she gave a thumbs up when her 22 year old self said she wanted to be having good sex uh

01:53:23 - 01:53:30 | Speaker 3:

it's the clip billy not billy okay billy give me the billy one i don't have a billy let's see her

01:53:30 - 01:54:02 | Speaker 1:

billy i've done nothing but make friends all year and and gotten so close with people that i wasn't with before and became friends with people I used to be friends with again and just like it's just been a year filled with friendship which honestly even though I was saying a lot of things that I want to do that was the real that was like the thing that I wanted to do and I really did it and it was awesome and yes I've had a lot of good sex so you're welcome

01:54:02 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 2:

Billy. You're welcome, Billy. Thank you, Billy. What is the most expensive fast food chain in the United States of America? Any guesses? Most expensive. Most expensive. No? Culver's. No. Raisin Cane's. No. Chipotle. Shake Shack. The most complaints for being overpriced, followed by Five Guys, which is being slammed for its out-of-control prices. But would you call that fast food?

01:54:31 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:54:32 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 2:

Shake Shack? Yeah. I would not.

01:54:34 - 01:54:42 | Speaker 3:

It is. I wouldn't call it a whole food. It's like fast and casual. It's in the same category as... You think that's a restaurant, a sit-down restaurant? You have to go in and order.

01:54:42 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 2:

It's a hybrid.

01:54:43 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 3:

You can drive through the one in... It's not McDonald's. In Northville, you can drive through.

01:54:47 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 2:

It's made to order.

01:54:48 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I... First off, it's not made to order. You know they got burgers that are sitting back there in a bin. They're just throwing them out of a bun. In a bin. But I do think that it is overpriced, and it also is overrated.

01:55:00 - 01:55:14 | Speaker 1:

Like, it used to be, like, I remember eating the first Shake Shack I ate at was in Manhattan because that was, like, an original New York thing. And I was like, this is the greatest thing ever. And it's kind of like Cheesecake Factory. Once you get one in your city, you're like, eh.

01:55:14 - 01:56:00 | Speaker 4:

I know, the magic wears off a little bit. Well, on the total other end of the spectrum, I want to give a shout-out to Matt Ishbia, local business guy, owner of UWM, and also the owner of the Phoenix Suns. and I'm shouting him out while we're talking about this story because he just announced new concession prices. If you find yourself at a Suns game, $2 hot dog. Everything's $2. Hot dogs, water, soda, chips, popcorn. So where a family of four used to spend $98 on hot dogs, water, and popcorn, that price will now be $24 instead. So a lot of people applauding him for making it more affordable. for people and families in general to go out and enjoy a basketball game.

01:56:00 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 3:

You know what it reminds me of? The Savannah Banana mentality.

01:56:05 - 01:56:11 | Speaker 4:

What's that? I've never been to a Savannah Banana. I think they're coming. All the baseball guys.

01:56:11 - 01:56:30 | Speaker 3:

So their whole thing was they bought the team and they knew that nobody was going to come because nobody could afford anything. So they had like 25 cent hot dog nights. I love that. That brought in people and then you could prove the platform because they're the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball. Yeah. So they could prove that it would work if they could just get people into the stands.

01:56:30 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 4:

That's like going to Jimmy John's Field for a baseball game. Super, super fun and way more affordable.

01:56:34 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 1:

Here's the deal, too. Matt, I don't know your story with parking, but parking at these venues is way stupid. $40 for parking to go to a game. We give away free tickets to a lot of these events. And we have listeners of ours that say, man, the parking is brutal. Like, to go, getting the free tickets is really nice. But then when you pay for parking and food for your kids, you got to take out a second mortgage or, you know, try to, like, give plasma or something like that.

You can go check out the TikTok of all of the War of the Roses. just search for the channel 955 Detroit TikTok that's on there and follow us on all of our social media we would love for you to do that I went out for dinner actually this was listen to this uh night out Chelsea was like why am I going to this um I had a couple buddies asked me if I wanted to go out and try a new restaurant which by the way it was unbelievable this place was like really really good it's called uh wilders it's in uh in birmingham oh sammy and frenchy what a place oh my god so we went to go eat there and it's a hard place right now because it's new to get a reservation so i said to chelsea i go this is a great opportunity but the only problem is chelsea you're gonna have to go out with two guy buddies of mine

02:00:00 - 02:01:26 | Speaker 4:

that invited me so it was chelsea myself jeff and tj that were there and these guys these guys have like the greatest stories first off let me say this to you when you have friends that are single and they live in uh birmingham you find out so many different things about what life is like in the dating world of crazy people okay so we were we were having a conversation about dating girls and whether or not you let them come back to your place you know and you invite them back to your place and they both told me something that happens often and tell me if you guys have ever done this if you've ever used this as your excuse or maybe this has been done they told me that one of the things for women to get an invite back to your apartment is these guys both usually will take girls out to restaurants that are close to where their apartment is. And the women that they will go on dates with will say to them, and it's happened more than once to each one of these guys. So there's a few women and they were not, you know, sharing girls will say, Hey, I got to use the bathroom and i'm not really good with public restrooms do you mind if we go back to

02:01:26 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 1:

your apartment so i can use your bathroom that is and someone falls for that well yeah why not

02:01:33 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 4:

one of them and i don't remember which one said that one of the girls pulled that with him and then he went back to his place he's like okay no problem so they went upstairs and he had no intention none at all in fooling around i don't swear to you i trust this guy immensely which means it must not have been jeff they they went back to the apartment and the girl ended up like uh going back to the bathroom which was in his bedroom and he was like wow it's taking so long what's going on in there she said she just had to go pee and went into the bedroom and there she was just sitting on the bed waiting on the bed for him is that a is that a ploy to get invited back to somebody's place has have any guys use that or any girls girls supposedly you guys are the ones using that hey can i use your bathroom and you know do that like or when or if you guys meet at somebody's house like if you pick the girl up at her house or whatever do you ever say to the girl hey can i use your bathroom and that was you did use this yeah when i was younger me and my

02:02:31 - 02:03:06 | Speaker 6:

homie marcus went up to ufm because he had a girlfriend up there and we stopped by i saw this other girl we had just called her js and we went to js dorm and for some reason she wanted to like show us around or whatever case i think we was smoking weed up there something like that so we had to walk around campus and on the way back we was about to go to the car and i'm like man i am i really gotta use the bathroom and then honestly it was her she was like you want to come back to my new arm and i could see like at the corner of her eyes she had like her lip bit kind of like the oh my god it was kind of like that i'm like yeah that's all marcus i'm like you go to the

02:03:06 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 4:

car i'm gonna go use the bathroom and uh did you did you use the bathroom oh yeah we smashed for

02:03:12 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 6:

That would not be my ploy to get back to somebody's house.

02:03:18 - 02:03:23 | Speaker 1:

I would not want it to have anything to do with the bathroom. I don't want you to picture me going to the bathroom.

02:03:24 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 6:

I feel like if you use that as a ploy, then the other person knows exactly what it means.

02:03:29 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 1:

A million percent.

02:03:31 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 4:

So if a guy doesn't invite you to come back into his place, how would you get him to invite you?

02:03:36 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I haven't given that any thought, obviously. but I'm not using the bathroom to do it. Right. That's embarrassing.

02:03:45 - 02:03:57 | Speaker 4:

How have any of the singles on the show here, Megan, Lydia, KP, if you would share with me, how have you gotten the invite to go back or do most guys just invite you?

02:03:57 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say I have boobs, so.

02:03:58 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 4:

Is that what it is?

02:03:59 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 2:

I have boobs. But here's the thing. If I say I have to go to the bathroom and then I'm prepping for any activities that might be taking place, you're going to think I'm pooping. That's not sexy. That's true.

02:04:11 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

02:04:12 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 3:

So, no. Do we care, though?

02:04:15 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

02:04:16 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 3:

Somebody made a stinky. If you think that a girl literally just pooped, do you think you want to sleep with her?

02:04:21 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 5:

I don't want that. I mean, it depends, bro. I'm going to be honest with you.

02:04:24 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 3:

No.

02:04:24 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 5:

No, the whole thought is out.

02:04:26 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 6:

I don't want to have sex with you if I just pooped. I mean, you probably do do it before you came on a date anyway, to make sure that you wouldn't have to go while you're on the date.

02:04:34 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 4:

No, I want to keep that clean. I'm thinking that that's not the case. Hey, dog. Except playing, you giving up ass because she might have went in there and doodle real quick? No, but I'm just, I'm thinking that it ruins the mood a little bit. Okay, take a shot and get in the game. What if the girl, what if the girl comes back to your place, comes back to your place and leaves such a stinky and then turns on the fan that's in the bathroom, the one that's like really loud, sounding like an airplane? engine if she comes out and pulls my pants down you're okay i'm gonna be thinking this is what

02:05:05 - 02:05:15 | Speaker 6:

i'm about to say i had a guy want to give a tour of his apartment like he's like can you come look at my new apartment and tell me where to put all my furniture and i'm like i'm not falling for that

02:05:15 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 4:

really you think that wait you think that he wasn't being honest with you i mean i'm pretty

02:05:19 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 6:

good at interior design but not at 11 p.m right right i mean you got to give the guy a little

02:05:25 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 4:

bit of credit though that was at least kind of gentlemanly of him no was it no he gave you but he gave you the uh i don't know i guess like compliment of hey you got good taste and i want you to come back no really no i think that's actually pretty smart i think the women who want to go back to jeff and tj's place and say hey can i use your bathroom i think it's brilliant i'd fall for that i'd be like yeah okay i hope my bathroom's he needs to pay me for my services

02:05:53 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 6:

My interior design services.

02:05:56 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 4:

Wait a sec. I thought you were talking about the services.

02:05:57 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 6:

Not the other services. And how much do they have to pay? I don't offer those, by the way. I don't offer those. And she doesn't kiss on the lips.

02:06:04 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 4:

If you were a hooker, what kind of hooker would you be?

02:06:07 - 02:06:08 | Speaker 6:

A furniture hooker.

02:06:09 - 02:06:12 | Speaker 4:

There's only one type of hooker, high-priced hookers.

02:06:12 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 6:

If you walk into an antique mall and go, big mistake. Huge.

02:06:17 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Amy? How you doing? Smoking on the morning.

02:06:20 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 8:

Hey. Good morning.

02:06:21 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

02:06:22 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 8:

So I am open. I am very blunt. I would straight up be like, hey, you want to go back to your place? Or, hey, my kid's gone. Let's go back to my place. But, I mean, now I can't. But before, you know, back in my partying day.

02:06:33 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 4:

I kind of like that, though. There's something hot about just coming right out and saying this is the case. I like that you say my kid's gone and mama's ready for some fun.

02:06:43 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 8:

Listen, we all deserve our times, okay? Good for you. Whether we're single or not, right? Yeah, you know what?

02:06:49 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 4:

And the people that don't.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 8:

Wait, wait.

02:06:51 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 6:

What? What was that?

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 4:

What did she say?

02:06:54 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 6:

Did she just admit to being a cheater?

02:06:57 - 02:07:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, I know. I don't know. What did she say? What was the exact word?

02:07:00 - 02:07:01 | Speaker 6:

Whether you're single or not.

02:07:02 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, is that what she meant by that? I thought she was like, okay. What's going on?

02:07:05 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 6:

Oh, or just like me time. Okay. Okay. My bad.

02:07:07 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 4:

Robert, what's up?

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you?

02:07:11 - 02:07:12 | Speaker 4:

Good. What's going on, buddy?

02:07:12 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 5:

so once i was invited uh upstairs uh because the girl wanted to show me her a plant like venus flytrap and i'd heard about the plant you ran up those stairs didn't you well it's like a plant that you always hear about but you

02:07:34 - 02:07:40 | Speaker 3:

never see so it was uh you know you just really wanted to see that plant you're so

02:07:40 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 4:

interested in it and was it really was there really a venus flytrap there or was she talking about her yeah venus and venus what's going on tammy hi hi i i don't i don't know that i would

02:07:58 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 7:

ever say hey i've got raging bgs can we go back to your place right exactly i mean how are you I just, like, cross your legs and kind of run, ask him if we can go back. And also, I just want to know, I want everybody to tell me, what is wrong with saying, hey, do you just want to go back to your place and smash?

02:08:20 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Just come right out. You're my kind of girl, by the way, Tammy. I like that.

02:08:25 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 7:

I mean, let's just get on with it. Let's get down.

02:08:28 - 02:08:33 | Speaker 4:

I wouldn't even go to dinner. I mean, like, let's just go back to my place and we'll order something in, right?

02:08:34 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, absolutely. And then eat afterwards. And don't eat that beforehand because then you will get the Bee Gees. That is so true.

02:08:39 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

That is true. Get a big old pizza and lay it in bed there and eat it together. But all right, Tammy, that's great. Thank you for the call.

02:08:46 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 6:

Is that your go-to food for smashing pizza?

02:08:49 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 4:

Usually I get the urge for, yeah, a little pizza. What's yours?

02:08:53 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 6:

No, Chinese food.

02:08:54 - 02:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Chinese.

02:08:55 - 02:08:58 | Speaker 6:

It's got to be Chinese. Give me that sweet and sour chicken, fried rice.

02:08:58 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 4:

And that, by the way, is something you have to eat after you have sex because there's too much sodium. You get a little bloated in that thing. Exactly.

02:09:04 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. USNX, Muskegon, Grand Rapids. WVKS, Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:09:18 - 02:09:25 | Speaker 4:

All right, War of the Roses time. This guy is not a good guy, especially because she just had his baby.

02:09:25 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:09:31 - 02:09:36 | Speaker 4:

So, Lena, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you. And why is that?

02:09:37 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 1:

So we had a baby four months ago, and we haven't exactly been intimate since we had the baby. And like kind of leading up to it, so he's been kind of distant and acting kind of weird with me.

02:09:48 - 02:09:58 | Speaker 4:

Have you tried to talk to him about this? Like have you said, hey, you know, or tried to initiate sex, and he's just, he's not into it?

02:09:59 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

I mean...

02:10:00 - 02:10:08 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if you've ever had a newborn, but it's not a lot of opportunity to initiate sex when you have a screaming baby that's awake every three hours.

02:10:08 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 1:

So are you the one that's the reason why you're not having sex? Like you're choosing not to have sex or is he the one that's choosing?

02:10:16 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Well, medically, I couldn't have sex for several weeks after I give birth. So that's part of the situation. And then I'm exhausted. I have a baby on my boob every hour.

02:10:28 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah. But why are you thinking that he's cheating? Like, why are you going to the fact that he's cheating?

02:10:36 - 02:10:59 | Speaker 2:

He went from, you know, previously leaving the house to go work and then work out for like an hour. And then now he goes to work and then work lasts a little later than usual. And then he'll go to the gym and then the gym will be like two and a half hours. And just his time away from home has been slowly getting longer. And I thought it was because of the baby. but then he's just, like, acting strange.

02:11:00 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 1:

So you're thinking that because of the baby and because of the less sex that you guys are having that he's out possibly cheating with somebody? Right. Has this ever been an issue in your relationship even before you had a baby? Did you ever think that he was the type of person that would cheat on you?

02:11:21 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 2:

Not necessarily. I mean, we've been together two years and there weren't really any red flags prior to, you know, the baby.

02:11:31 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 1:

Do you fear that he has been in a relationship with somebody or do you think that he's just out? Checked out. Checked out, yeah.

02:11:45 - 02:11:54 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I wouldn't want to call it checked out because, I mean, what is he doing? Sitting in a parking lot somewhere, scrolling through Instagram? Like, what could he possibly be doing?

02:11:54 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, a lot of times maybe he's just staying away from the house because he's got responsibilities of having a baby, and maybe it's just not cheating.

02:12:04 - 02:12:06 | Speaker 3:

I mean, the algorithm will have you stuck.

02:12:07 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 1:

Explain. What is that?

02:12:09 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 3:

The algorithm will have you stuck.

02:12:12 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 1:

Like girls coming up in your.

02:12:14 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I really haven't.

02:13:53 - 02:13:55 | Speaker 4:

02:14:15 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 2:

That's it? You said a dozen long-term roses?

02:14:19 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:14:21 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Okay, cool. You said you need a name?

02:14:28 - 02:14:29 | Speaker 4:

A first and a last name.

02:14:31 - 02:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Stephanie. okay and what's her telephone number uh okay yeah hold on one second

02:14:40 - 02:14:55 | Speaker 4:

she's someone someone i'm seeing

02:15:01 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And we do something unique at rosesbloom.com, and instead of offering a paper card with the flower delivery, in this case, Stephanie is going to get a text message alerting her that she has some flowers waiting for her, and she's going to be able to play a voice memo that I'm going to record with you here. You can say anything you want. You can make it as long as you want. And when I count you down, you just go, okay?

02:15:22 - 02:15:25 | Speaker 4:

Okay. I mean, I don't really know what to say, though.

02:15:25 - 02:15:31 | Speaker 1:

whatever you would put on a card you can say in the voice memo but you can make it a little longer

02:15:31 - 02:15:40 | Speaker 4:

because so okay yeah it'll actually like play my voice on the text correct it's just like have you

02:15:40 - 02:15:45 | Speaker 1:

ever sent a voice memo to somebody instead of a text message it's the same thing right okay let

02:15:45 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 4:

me hold on let me just think for like a minute um and you can always you can always redo it Okay. Okay, let me count you down first. I'm ready, I'm ready.

02:15:55 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay, three, two, one.

02:15:59 - 02:16:13 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, Stephanie? You know, I know you've been having a tough time this week, so I decided to surprise you with some beautiful roses for a beautiful girl. And, you know, I just can't wait to make more memories with you.

02:16:15 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay, and Calvin, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

02:16:22 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 3:

I guess.

02:16:24 - 02:16:24 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:16:25 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 3:

Calvin, I'm going to jump on here just to wrap up the call. I need to inform you of one last thing, and then we will let you off this call. While you've been sending the flowers off, your girlfriend, Lena, has been on the phone the entire time and just heard you send them to another woman. You say Lena?

02:16:54 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 4:

How?

02:16:56 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 3:

Lena has been listening in this entire phone call and just heard you send flowers to another woman. And I understand that you guys just recently had a baby, Calvin.

02:17:09 - 02:17:14 | Speaker 4:

Nah, this is... Some bulls**t.

02:17:16 - 02:17:29 | Speaker 3:

Calvin? He hung up the phone. lena do you have any idea who that is i honestly have no idea who that is

02:17:29 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 4:

i just don't know what to say right now and the message that he left too i mean i guess he's been seeing her for some time and sending her rose as well she's had a hard week not i who has been waking up every hour on the hour with his child so

02:17:49 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to hang on one second, okay?

02:17:55 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 2:

Yo, yo. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning. This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

02:18:08 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 3:

Calvin, I'm going to jump on here just to wrap up the call. I need to inform you of one last thing, and then we will let you off this call. While you've been sending the flowers off, your girlfriend, Lena, has been on the phone the entire time and just heard you send them to another woman. You say Lena? How? Lena has been listening in this entire phone call and just heard you send flowers to another woman. and I understand that you guys just recently had a baby, Calvin. Nah, this is

02:18:53 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 4:

some bulls**t.

02:19:09 - 02:19:10 | Speaker 3:

Lena?

02:19:12 - 02:19:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah?

02:19:13 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 3:

We've been trying to call him. Has he contacted you since we last had talked?

02:19:22 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 4:

No, he's probably in the phone with Stephanie. He clearly doesn't care about me or his kid.

02:19:30 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

We've been trying to call her number, too. And we'll continue to do that. Stay right here, okay? Okay. War of the Roses here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's just awful. It's an awful situation. I mean, just get done having a baby and you got to, obviously, a lot of things that you are having happen to your life that's changing and should be changing for the best. And then you hear a story like this. This is not good. Alyssa wants to comment. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Hi. What's up, Alyssa?

02:20:02 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I would just like to say that women are so strong, they can push out a baby. They can do it all, right? Instead of trying to figure out where to figure out who Stephanie is, she needs to figure out how to get out of the relationship. I'm not sure if everyone's married or not, legal reasons, but women, you know, that's the thing. Men, they won't ever respect you, even if they do this after you have a baby. So there's not much you can do after that besides just leave.

02:20:31 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 3:

Those two, they're not married. I don't know what their intentions were as far as if they were going to get married.

02:20:37 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. If he don't like you now, he's going to respect you later.

02:20:41 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 3:

And it's one of those where you look at what is going on here. And obviously, his life's changed. And I will say this. I've had three children. And the first one, I was overjoyed over how great it was to be a dad. I see that they don't understand how much they need to be there to help out because there's a lot of hormonal things that go on. Postpartum is a big deal. And I see a lot of times where, and I did this with Jacob, I checked out and I wasn't the guy that I should have been. And I regret it immensely. It's something that literally to this day I go and have therapy. I've never went out and had the affair on Chelsea during that time, but I could see where that could happen.

02:21:59 - 02:22:06 | Speaker 4:

How would women feel, though? You know what I'm saying? They push out. They do all that. When they have the baby, then they have to deal with the emotional part afterwards.

02:22:06 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 1:

Oh, for sure. And I give Mojo credit. That's what he's trying to say. And also, like, guys, this is when your partner needs the most amount of support.

02:22:18 - 02:22:18 | Speaker 3:

Amen.

02:22:18 - 02:22:23 | Speaker 1:

Even if you feel like she's pushing you away, our brains are like mushy after we have a baby.

02:22:24 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 2:

All of this is amazing and I 100% agree. I think, who's prepared in this situation? Because we always say like you can't prepare yourself to have a child. And I feel like a woman, obviously like your body is changing. Your body has been changing for however long you've been having this baby. Like you're more nurturing, you're more caring. like as a guy how do you even like develop that that mindset at times because i will say i was i was really attentive to sherelle during that experience but i know there are a lot of guys that didn't grow up that way who have like you know a mom in their life or a woman in their life to kind of show them how it is they didn't have sisters or aunts with kids like how do you get to that place where you know how to be there and support your woman fully when you have a baby

02:23:09 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 3:

you should both not have any time to go out to bars and hang out and be at work longer like you should it should not it should not happen because now your your life has completely changed as far as what your responsibilities are all about but i do think that this is something and i remember saying this to a co-worker of ours whose uh spouse went through postpartum i don't believe that they talk to the couples enough during the pregnancy about how this will affect your marriage and i know that there's a or a relationship in this case because they're not married i don't think that it comes up and i think that that's something that you should if you're getting ready to have a baby seriously have conversations with each other about if not a professional about which would probably be better because here's a guy who she says up until the time that she had this baby this guy was amazing you know what i mean like this guy was there for her he didn't go out party he didn't worry about him you know himself as much and then all of a sudden he has a baby

02:24:10 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 1:

in he's you have to understand there is going to be a transition it is going to be different especially in those first couple of weeks and months if you are not getting as a guy i'm saying this if you are not getting the same amount of attention that you did just know that it's you know this is a huge transition period not just for your partner for you too and like that's it's very normal it's not like in this case you know he was being ignored on purpose and and we are

02:24:40 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

i mean no means saying that kelvin is getting any respect from us the guy the guy is if he's the son of a okay and i think that uh what he's done is is horrible but i do think that i can see where this could happen more often and i think you got to be careful what's up bart

02:25:00 - 02:25:02 | Speaker 2:

Hey, why is everyone calling me Bart?

02:25:03 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 5:

Because your name says Bart on this thing here. What is your name?

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 2:

My name is Art. What's up?

02:25:08 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 5:

Art.

02:25:09 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 2:

So everyone's calling me. He's calling me. I'm like, Bart, Bart.

02:25:14 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 5:

Art, we'll fix it right now. We'll fix it on the call screen thing. Wait, I think you say it first time, long time. Are you first time, long time?

02:25:21 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no. Hold on, hold on. Hey, long time, all the time. I got to our last week, remember? Okay, thank you.

02:25:28 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but we said it as Bart, though.

02:25:32 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 2:

So what's going on, bro? Hey, but I'm listening to this dude, right? And I'm not going to lie. I hold myself accountable for a lot of stuff. So when he did that little, uh-huh, uh-huh, she did this, Lena did this. I mean, dude's just playing or whatever. You know what I mean? Because I've done it before, but not in no relationship like that. Now, that happened to me. I got cheated on, and I tried to save face, save the relationship and everything. I ended up with my daughter. You know what I mean?

02:26:06 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 5:

So, wait, the mother of your child cheated on you.

02:26:09 - 02:26:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Listen, I got too many calls talking about something. I did this. I did that.

02:26:15 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 5:

We don't hear that often, the women who just had a baby going out and cheating.

02:26:20 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Man. Talk on it, Art. Hey, honestly, I've never said this before. You know, like it was a lot to take in. I know it does, but I didn't have a ton of guidance.

02:26:55 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 5:

Just had a baby, and he cheated on her. What's up?

02:26:59 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I was calling because I was married, and my ex-husband actually had a baby on me when I was pregnant as well. Oh, my God. Wow. Yeah, we both had our babies about four months apart, and he actually got another woman pregnant, too.

02:27:17 - 02:27:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:27:18 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so it was a whole lot going on.

02:27:22 - 02:27:24 | Speaker 6:

How did you find out about these other pregnancies?

02:27:25 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, he ended up telling me he thought that we're going to have like a sister wife situation, I guess.

02:27:31 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 1:

So he was doing this intentionally. He was trying to do this at the same time.

02:27:35 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 3:

Yes, he was. He was because she lost the baby at first and then went back and got her pregnant again.

02:27:40 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 5:

She that guy, by the way, should be he should be castrated.

02:27:44 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 6:

Did you know these women at all or were they just random?

02:27:48 - 02:27:57 | Speaker 3:

No, I didn't. They were random. But he brought us together like, oh, we're going to be one big, happy family. And I actually tried for a minute, but...

02:27:57 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 1:

No. Oh, my God.

02:27:59 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 5:

Do the kids hang out with each other?

02:28:02 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 3:

Heck no. I haven't seen that man in, like, over 10 years.

02:28:07 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 5:

So he's not involved in your child's life? Is he involved in any of the other women's children's life?

02:28:13 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 3:

I think so. I had his second and third kid. He has probably, like, eight or nine now.

02:28:19 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 6:

Wow. So when you say you tried the sister-wife thing, what does that mean?

02:28:25 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, when I had my son and then she had hers, she went back to work and I stayed home and I was taking care of my toddler, my newborn and her newborn. Oh, my goodness gracious. Yeah, I know. Right.

02:28:40 - 02:28:49 | Speaker 5:

Asia, this is like literally a reality show or or some kind of a movie. That's crazy. Well, is baby healthy and are you healthy?

02:28:50 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, my son now is 14 and I'm fine.

02:28:53 - 02:28:53 | Speaker 5:

That's great.

02:28:53 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Asia.

02:28:55 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 5:

Well, we love you, Asia. Women, like Shannon said, women are strong. They can give birth to babies, and you guys can deal with all kinds of crap. Thank you for calling in, and thanks for trusting us enough to share that story.

02:29:10 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 3:

It's been a long time. Yes, thank you.

02:29:12 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 5:

Love you.

02:29:13 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 4:

Shannon, we have breaking dirty news here right now. We do. Yes, the Army is here to sign Megan up. I don't know. No, the Salvation Army is presenting our very own Megan Mick with a very nice award.

02:30:32 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 5:

It's a major award.

02:30:33 - 02:31:01 | Speaker 1:

In the studio with us right now is Major Hall from the Salvation Army, which, by the way, you see those red kettles? You better not be cheap, Kevin. Jingle, jingle. When's the last time you put a quarter in there, right? I put more than a quarter. You know what? That was a trick question. I'm a baller. I put a dollar. A dollar. I carry now, at this time of the year, I carry dollars in my car because I was, like, handing out 20s like they were dollars. And I was like, man, this is getting expensive. But no offense, Major.

02:31:03 - 02:31:08 | Speaker 5:

Well, I wanted 20s the day that I was out bringing bells because we were matching it. So, every $20 turned into $100.

02:31:09 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Yeah.

02:31:10 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely.

02:31:11 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 1:

Major Hall, what's going on with Megan? What's the story?

02:31:13 - 02:31:24 | Speaker 4:

So, I know, no offense to anyone else here in this room, but this is all about Megan right now. Yeah. So, Megan has won our Celebrity Bell Ringer Third Place Award. What?

02:31:25 - 02:31:25 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:31:26 - 02:31:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm Megan. So, Megan raised for us $1,265. That is amazing.

02:31:35 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 1:

Who was second and first? I didn't know there was a contest.

02:31:38 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 4:

You know, those are coming out later today. Come on. Are they in this building? I know they're not, but they do live in a house, and they like to scream.

02:31:51 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 1:

They live in a house, and they like to scream.

02:31:52 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 4:

So there's my hints for you.

02:31:54 - 02:31:55 | Speaker 1:

They live in a house, and they like to scream.

02:31:55 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 4:

I'll tell you who it is.

02:31:56 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 5:

02:32:00 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 1:

02:32:46 - 02:33:01 | Speaker 1:

faller would rub it in he would tell me that we beat us i don't like that over social media i love him too but you know what actually it's funny there's there's probably like nobody in radio that i would be upset with ever beating us except for in the ratings you know what i mean

02:33:01 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 6:

02:34:00 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 1:

come on we have less than a week but we got to do it right and we're in what we're calling the

02:34:04 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 4:

consortium of hope season so every dollar is matched for a dollar up to 500 000 through the

02:34:09 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 1:

end of the year and people don't understand like salvation army is legit like they they do really amazing work making sure that they take care of the community this is the time of the year where we need it last hour we had literally a woman living in her car with her family and there are many people that come to the salvation army for help like that so yeah unfortunately that's not

02:34:29 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 4:

a unique situation. No.

02:34:31 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 1:

Major Hall from the Salvation Army. You're going to witness Shannon do the Dirty on the 30. Shannon, she may be Major Hall may actually be a correspondent for you. Maybe she's met any of these people.

02:34:41 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 2:

What do you got? Okay, so we're starting off with a little Taylor Swift story. It could be a big Taylor Swift story if it's true. She is now sparking rumors that she's engaged to Travis Kelsey after Swifties noticed a detail in some photos from her recent Eras tour-themed 35th birthday party, which there were a whole bunch of people there.

02:35:00 - 02:35:36 | Speaker 3:

including Brittany Mahomes, wife of, of course, Patrick Mahomes. But there were a few photos that I saw that showed Taylor all cozied up with her girlfriend, sipping on a cocktail. And after closely examining the photos, one Swifty pointed out to all of the others that Taylor's left ring finger looked a little blurred. And that sparked this wild theory that Taylor may have purposely edited out, like photoshopped an engagement ring as not to reveal the news yet that travis had already popped the question wow i don't see the blur but i mean photoshop is magical so but you know what though

02:35:36 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 1:

taylor's fans are nuts enough to figure something out beforehand so i wouldn't even say not i give

02:35:41 - 02:35:45 | Speaker 3:

them props some of this stuff is kind of incredible but they're like private investigators if we have

02:35:45 - 02:35:50 | Speaker 1:

any swifties that can help us out with that last war of the roses please after the youth welfare

02:35:50 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 3:

bill that she advocated for passed in Congress. Paris Hilton now says she is not ruling out running for public office. She said she's seeing that her voice can really make a difference and that she can really shine a spotlight on things that are important around the world to make it a better place and most importantly, safer for kids. The hotel heiress and mom of two said that whether or not she trades Hollywood for the political world, she's not sure yet, but her visits to Washington about this particular subject are not going to stop. Her performance

02:36:20 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 1:

at the Jingle Ball. They showed it last night on ABC, and I know you're going to do that later in the thing. Yeah. She was really good.

02:36:26 - 02:36:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I had a lot of people say that to me, too.

02:36:28 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 1:

I, to be quite honest with you, was like, Paris. I mean, she was amazing. She was really good.

02:36:34 - 02:36:59 | Speaker 3:

The Charlotte Hornets are facing some backlash after an in-game promotion skit in which a lucky teenager got a PlayStation 5 went horribly wrong when they forced this poor kid to give it back. It all happened during the Hornets 76ers game. There was this little 13-year-old. His name was Jack. He was invited out onto the court to get a Christmas gift from Hugo, the Hornets mascot.

02:36:59 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 2:

I have another letter here that says, Dear Santa Hugo, I have been working hard in school all year and making sure my brains are full of games.

02:37:08 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 1:

I have also been working on my jump shot, but my jump shot into games. Do they tell the crowd they're taking it back or they don't tell you?

02:37:16 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 3:

No, they award it in front of the crowd, as you're hearing right now. Everybody's cheering.

02:37:22 - 02:37:25 | Speaker 1:

Why would they do that to this kid? That's horrible.

02:37:26 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 3:

I guess they said when they went back that you don't get to keep what you got, and we're trading it out for a jersey. That was just for, like, a presentation. It was a skit, is what they said. Well, the next day, after getting just slammed on social media, the Hornets apologized. They said what they did, missed the mark. Yeah. Reps for the team have reached out to Jack's family and said they are committed to not only making it right, but to exceeding his expectations. They're giving him the PS5. They're also giving him a VIP experience to a future game.

02:37:55 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 1:

I would I would sue him and I'd take him to court and I'd make it more. I want to own the PlayStation company now. That's nuts.

02:38:03 - 02:39:10 | Speaker 3:

And lastly, you were just talking about our iHeartRadio jingle balls, jingle balls, lots of balls. One that went down in New York, the other in L.A. You can watch them both now. I'm feeling good, man. How are you? Good. Kevin, by the way, got a little salty because the Salvation Army Major.

02:40:00 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 3:

He took his microphone. Listen, I gave it up willingly. I said, here, no problem. She said, you want me to move? I said, no, I can sit over here. We got options. You were salty that I did my commercial on Lydia's suite and told me I might as well just stand here and do the rest of the show. You know what? If we're going to tell it, let's tell it all.

02:40:15 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 2:

You made Shannon and I feel like you don't want to be with us. Don't try to bring Shannon in your drama. Shannon said that to me, she said, I was very offended by this. And I said to Shannon, I go, I agree, I'm offended too. Shannon, don't let him lie on your head. He thought that maybe it was...

02:40:29 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 4:

It's not the same energy when you're not in here.

02:40:31 - 02:40:35 | Speaker 2:

Don't let him lie on your name, Shannon. That commercial was horrible, by the way. It was really bad.

02:40:35 - 02:40:37 | Speaker 3:

All right, let's talk about freaks, though.

02:40:37 - 02:40:38 | Speaker 2:

All right, let's get the freak on.

02:40:38 - 02:41:11 | Speaker 3:

I had a conversation with someone, and they were telling me that there are certain things that stand out about a person. And when you see these things, you say, oh, yeah, that's a freak. So I wanted to know, are there things that immediately, when you look at someone, that's a dead giveaway. Now, the thing that they said about a woman was, if you see a woman and she has a large tattoo on her side, I'm not talking about like a little Bible verse, nothing cute under the boob, about a rib cage, like a full tattoo.

02:41:11 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 2:

Like a raven or something.

02:41:13 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. A flower on her side. On her side. And if that extends from her side to like her upper thigh, like down the leg. That's the new tramp stamp. Man, they said if you see that, she a freak. Yes. I agree. Okay.

02:41:28 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:41:28 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 3:

Now, for guys, like if you see a dude with a thumb ring, he into some stuff, bro.

02:41:34 - 02:41:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I dated a guy who wore a thumb ring. I agree with that statement. Remember the story I told about the guy that pulled out a paddle? Oh, he had a thumb ring? Oh, he had a thumb ring.

02:41:47 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 3:

Regular dude's not out here just with thumb rings, bro. Like, that's a sign that your boy into a couple things. Yeah, that one really got me.

02:41:53 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 4:

Couple things. Couple things, bro.

02:41:55 - 02:42:10 | Speaker 2:

Does he use the thumb ring at all, or is it just that he has the thumb ring? Oh, Shannon? You don't know what you're referring to, but he did not use the thumb ring. I'm just wondering, does the thumb ring come into play? I always think that when a guy has a thumb ring like that, he's a gypsy or something. I don't know.

02:42:11 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 1:

A traveler.

02:42:12 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 2:

Yes. They're not known as gypsies anymore?

02:42:15 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Okay. We call them travelers.

02:42:17 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 2:

All right. He's that or he's a fan of Harry Potter?

02:42:20 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Which house is he in? Yeah.

02:42:26 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 1:

Hufflepuffs.

02:42:28 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 3:

Thumb rings.

02:42:29 - 02:42:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, thumb rings? Slytherin. He slithered into that, you know.

02:42:35 - 02:42:37 | Speaker 2:

What's the other? Any others?

02:42:37 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 4:

That's all I got, bro. I would say, and there's like a saying about this too, but the bigger the hoop, the bigger the hoe. Come on.

02:42:43 - 02:42:45 | Speaker 3:

The bigger the hoop, the bigger the hoe?

02:42:45 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Like her earrings? If you could wear your hoop earrings as a bracelet, right?

02:42:50 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say that.

02:42:51 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 2:

That's crazy. I could see that. The bigger the hoop, the bigger the hole. I can see. You've never heard somebody say that? No, I've never heard that. Girls with big hoops, man.

02:42:59 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 4:

I think I would throw that one on the list.

02:43:00 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 2:

That's insane. I think that's a good one. I always heard that girls that wear toe rings, too, are also kind of freaky. Toe rings freak me out.

02:43:07 - 02:43:08 | Unknown:

Really?

02:43:08 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 2:

They do. I don't like you.

02:43:09 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 3:

I think they're hot. Oh, my God. It literally makes my stomach hurt. Are you grinding your teeth? Yeah, it's one of them where I'm just like, oh.

02:43:15 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 1:

No, because you know your feet look good. Nobody's putting toe rings on some janky feet.

02:43:20 - 02:43:37 | Speaker 2:

Somebody also told me that guys, when a guy wears his watch on his right hand and not his left hand on the wrist, that the guy is sending a message to possibly another person that's there that he's ready to go. Really? I always thought it was based on if you're a right-handed or a left-handed.

02:43:37 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 3:

Is that of the same sex? Like, he's telling other guys he's ready to go?

02:43:40 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 2:

Could be other guys. Could be other girls. I mean, he could be sending messages. He's sending messages to girls at bars. If you wear it on your right, because I'm a right-handed guy, so I always thought that you wear it on your left hand so that you can pop it up. But they say guys that wear it on the right hand, they're sending messages. So I don't know if that's the case. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I would love if you would share with us your freak thing that you think when you see somebody doing something or wearing something, you know, man, they go into the bedroom and they do everything.

02:44:16 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 1:

Can I give you mine? I also think it's very hot when guys have nose rings.

02:44:21 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 2:

Really?

02:44:22 - 02:44:23 | Speaker 3:

All right. What kind of nose ring?

02:44:23 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 2:

Like Tupac or?

02:44:25 - 02:44:26 | Speaker 1:

Stud or hoop. Doesn't matter.

02:44:26 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 2:

No, you can't have a fake one. Are you talking about, did you say? No, I said Tupac. Oh, Tupac. Oh, okay. I don't know what that kind of ring is called. So you want a stud or a hoop? Either one? Either or. Okay.

02:44:36 - 02:44:39 | Speaker 3:

Either or. What if they were both? Because I've been seeing that a lot lately, too.

02:44:39 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 1:

That is a trend right now. I've been thinking about getting my nose pierced a second time to do it, too. Hot.

02:44:45 - 02:44:51 | Speaker 2:

Hot. What if they have their in-between pierced down there? Oh, Lord, with the chain attached?

02:44:51 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, can I tell you what I honestly think? The chain attached. I've seen it in a movie. Anybody who has their downstairs taken care of usually is not even that freaky.

02:45:00 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 6:

Really?

02:45:00 - 02:45:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm like, then why do you do that? To be cool.

02:45:04 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 6:

Really? Yeah.

02:45:05 - 02:45:11 | Speaker 4:

That doesn't hurt when you walk. I was with somebody when they got it done. It hurts. A guy? No, it was a girl. I was supposed to cry.

02:45:11 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 7:

When you have, okay, so here's a quick question. When you talk about the chain, where does the chain go to? So it goes from one to another. Where does it go?

02:45:19 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 6:

He had it on his thing, and then it went up to, like, his nipple.

02:45:22 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 7:

What if he has it chained to his wallet? So if you take his money.

02:45:26 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 3:

Didn't you want that, Kev?

02:45:28 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 1:

Not like this.

02:45:30 - 02:45:33 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm talking about the wallet. And that's that.

02:45:33 - 02:45:34 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:45:34 - 02:45:40 | Speaker 7:

Wallet chains, to me, are hysterical because I always think of just Kid Rock with wallet chains because he always has that little thing that goes down.

02:45:40 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 6:

I want to like that little Louie pouch that you can clip onto your belt loop.

02:45:44 - 02:45:44 | Speaker 7:

Yeah?

02:45:44 - 02:45:46 | Speaker 6:

I like that. I like that kind of thing.

02:45:46 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 7:

What about guys that wear messenger bags? Somebody told me that that was also another one, too, the guys with messenger bags. No.

02:45:52 - 02:45:57 | Speaker 5:

That's a guy who likes to, oh, God, how do you say this appropriately on the radio?

02:45:57 - 02:45:58 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

02:45:58 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes, Kev, you just have dumb ones. Kev's a guy who meal preps and goes to bed at nine. That's not a freak.

02:46:03 - 02:46:03 | Speaker 5:

Really?

02:46:04 - 02:46:06 | Speaker 7:

A messenger bag guy? He's a meal prepper?

02:46:06 - 02:46:16 | Speaker 5:

He likes, for Christmas, we were talking about gifts, like pogo sticks, but like receiving it from a woman. What? Oh, my God. Really?

02:46:16 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 4:

That was the best way to get around that, because you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you carry a messenger bag, I don't get it.

02:46:23 - 02:46:37 | Speaker 7:

What would you do as a woman? Wait, question for you. What would you do as a woman? and we're not going to kink shame people, but we are. What would you do as a woman if you were in bed and he wanted you to do that? Would you be okay with him?

02:46:37 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm still trying to figure out what it is. They always say you've got to sacrifice for your partner

02:46:41 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 6:

and the one you love. That's it.

02:46:43 - 02:46:48 | Speaker 7:

That would make me wonder. I would wonder if he's into me or Steve.

02:46:48 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 3:

You wouldn't do it once just to see? Really? Yeah, my husband? Yeah. No.

02:46:54 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 7:

Actually.

02:46:54 - 02:46:55 | Speaker 3:

Never once? No.

02:46:55 - 02:47:00 | Speaker 7:

Shannon, do it tonight and just see what his reaction is. Wait, videotape it. Megan.

02:47:00 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 3:

I'll buy it if you promise to use it.

02:47:03 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 7:

You know how Wes always, like, comes up on you and surprises you and goes, boo?

02:47:08 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:47:09 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 7:

Do this. Have this be your boo. Well, Megan, have you done it to a guy?

02:47:12 - 02:47:17 | Speaker 4:

No, but I would do it once. Would you dare me to say boop when I did it?

02:47:17 - 02:47:18 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, you're going to say boop. No.

02:47:19 - 02:47:24 | Speaker 4:

I would try it once just to be like, boop. I did it. Do you like it? Did I do it?

02:47:24 - 02:47:26 | Speaker 7:

What's up, Abel? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:47:27 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I find that girls that have, like, grown women with Hello Kitty stuff all over. Freaky. Yeah. Can you see that? Freaky, freaky. Can you see that? Hello Kitty girls.

02:47:39 - 02:47:46 | Speaker 4:

People, women who have mirrored furniture, you know, the end tables that have the reflective

02:47:46 - 02:47:48 | Speaker 5:

surfaces. Yeah.

02:47:48 - 02:47:56 | Speaker 7:

What about bedazzlers? What about girls that are bedazzlers? Bedazzlers always seem to me like they're a little freaky. What's up, Nicole? How you doing?

02:47:57 - 02:48:00 | Speaker 2:

I did that one time. I tried that one time.

02:48:00 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 7:

You did what one time?

02:48:01 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 2:

The pogo stick. The pogo stick.

02:48:03 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no. And what did he ask for it?

02:48:08 - 02:48:08 | Speaker 4:

He did.

02:48:09 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

02:48:09 - 02:48:12 | Speaker 4:

You don't just spring that on somebody unannounced.

02:48:12 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 7:

Do you think that he really was into you? What do you think that story is about?

02:48:21 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 2:

No. But I, so I asked him and I told him, you know, have you ever tried a guy? Maybe that's your thing. Maybe that's, you know, he said, no, no, no, no, I'm not attracted. Not attracted to guys.

02:48:34 - 02:48:34 | Speaker 7:

Interesting.

02:48:35 - 02:48:41 | Speaker 4:

Well, when you were done poker searching, did you just look at him and say, I'm the captain now?

02:48:45 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm in charge.

02:48:48 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 7:

Was it weird for you, though? Like, were you kind of like, ee, you know? Yeah.

02:48:53 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes. It is. It was. It's not something that I am into or would do again because it's. Yeah. You look at them differently after. That's exactly it. Yeah.

02:49:04 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That's fair. Yeah, that's fair. That's super fair.

02:49:07 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 7:

That to me makes me go, I don't think we're going to have a second date. You know what I mean?

02:49:12 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, no, yeah.

02:49:13 - 02:49:19 | Speaker 5:

Are you glad you tried it? Are you glad you could, like, check that off your to-do list? I guess.

02:49:20 - 02:49:26 | Speaker 7:

How soon after you pogo-sticked him did you call your best friend and said, you're never going to believe what just happened?

02:49:30 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 2:

I'm pretty sure it was the same day.

02:49:32 - 02:49:33 | Speaker 7:

Immediately, in the group chat.

02:49:34 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 6:

In the group chat.

02:49:35 - 02:49:38 | Speaker 2:

She was kind of jealous. She was like, how come you always find these guys?

02:49:39 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 7:

What else have you done? Thank you for the call.

02:49:43 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 1:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:49:50 - 02:49:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

02:49:52 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 1:

Live.

02:49:58 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:50:00 - 02:50:07 | Speaker 1:

hold on a second here before I go into the next topic Loretta what's up Loretta

02:50:07 - 02:50:12 | Speaker 3:

okay I'm going to voice disguise you

02:50:12 - 02:50:23 | Speaker 1:

hold on a second I'm voice disguising you go ahead what's up do you mean your voice disguiser is bad are you on a speaker or something

02:50:23 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 3:

hold on I can take you off

02:50:26 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 1:

yeah

02:50:26 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 3:

can you hear me now

02:50:28 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's much better. What's up?

02:50:34 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 3:

Are you there?

02:50:36 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 1:

I lost you. You muted your phone. You pushed your cheek up against the mute button.

02:50:41 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 3:

Can you hear me now?

02:50:42 - 02:50:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got you now. Go ahead.

02:50:44 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, I'm driving a truck. No, my ex-husband actually asked me to do that for him. And it actually ended up causing that divorce.

02:50:54 - 02:50:55 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:50:55 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why?

02:50:56 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 1:

I can see that.

02:50:57 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 3:

Why? Because then he started looking up different adult sites.

02:51:05 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:51:06 - 02:51:09 | Speaker 3:

And different other than male and female.

02:51:09 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 4:

So he became obsessed with it.

02:51:10 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 3:

And he ended up with the male. Oh, okay.

02:51:12 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 1:

So that is interesting. Like, I could see where, and this is, again, no shaming at all, but I could see that maybe he was a little confused about his sexuality.

02:51:25 - 02:51:28 | Speaker 2:

I think so. How long were you all married before this happened?

02:51:29 - 02:51:30 | Unknown:

Two years.

02:51:30 - 02:51:31 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

02:51:32 - 02:51:32 | Speaker 2:

That's, uh.

02:51:32 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 3:

Yep, and he's still with him, so.

02:51:36 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 2:

And prior to that, you had no assumptions or nothing gave you the thought?

02:51:41 - 02:51:45 | Speaker 3:

No, not at all. He was very masculine. Very. Well, they're, hmm. Yeah.

02:51:46 - 02:51:47 | Speaker 1:

That's an interesting thing.

02:51:48 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 3:

He was very masculine.

02:51:49 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 1:

I, uh.

02:51:50 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 3:

He was very masculine.

02:51:52 - 02:52:03 | Speaker 1:

I do find that that would probably be one of those ones where you'd be like, Like, huh, I wonder what we, you know what I mean? Like, that would make you feel that way. But are you guys still friends to this day, or no? Do you not talk?

02:52:03 - 02:52:08 | Speaker 3:

No, we don't speak. But we have mutual friends, and I hear she's a great friend, and she still does it.

02:52:09 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Well, thank you. I appreciate it. By the way, does anybody know, and I know they're an advertiser, does Sorella sell pogo steaks? Do they call them pogo steaks? No. Okay. No.

02:52:21 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 2:

Never mind.

02:52:21 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 1:

All right. Now back to the regularly scheduled program already in progress. Call the show now. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

02:52:29 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 4:

844-665-6548.

02:52:32 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 1:

I have a question to ask, okay? And this is a question that's going to require honesty. And I don't know if we'll get calls on this, but this would be interesting. We're going to call this Under the Mistletoe. I saw this stat as I was preparing for trending news today. One in six people have admitted to kissing a co-worker at the company Christmas party. One of the biggest times that people will actually make out with a co-worker is usually when the most alcohol is usually served, and that is at company Christmas parties. Has anybody ever, anyone listening to who, ever made out with a co-worker at your company Christmas party only to realize, holy crap, I think that just happened? Has that ever happened? First off, have any of you guys ever made out with or kissed a co-worker?

02:53:20 - 02:53:20 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:53:20 - 02:53:21 | Speaker 1:

You have?

02:53:21 - 02:53:22 | Speaker 2:

Way more than that.

02:53:22 - 02:53:23 | Speaker 1:

You have?

02:53:23 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 2:

I've had a baby with a co-worker.

02:53:25 - 02:53:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really? Josiah's mom was a co-worker?

02:53:28 - 02:53:29 | Speaker 2:

She worked across the hall.

02:53:29 - 02:53:38 | Speaker 1:

I didn't realize that. I didn't know that. And when did you guys hook up? You guys didn't hook up around Christmas time, did you? Nah. That wasn't the first time? Nah. Did any of you guys have that happen to you at a company Christmas party?

02:53:39 - 02:53:59 | Speaker 4:

Not at a Christmas party. I was going to say, I don't think it was at a Christmas party. But I'm laughing because I remember where there was a former member of this radio show who got drunk and made out with our boss at the time at the company Christmas party. You know who I'm talking about. I'll refrain from saying both names, but everybody just looked over and that was happening. And we were like, what the heck is going on?

02:53:59 - 02:54:52 | Speaker 1:

And it was the big, big boss. It wasn't like, oh yeah. It wasn't like the little boss. It was a big boss. And, uh, and it was crazy. And it actually, one of the funniest parts of that whole thing was, I actually think that they were kind of a cute couple and I thought to myself, they should date. And if they dated, this guy would have probably gotten himself a better job out of the deal. You know, um, 844 Mojo live 844-665-6548 or text 944. five five zero zero. I hear about these company holiday parties and how it leads to a lot of craziness and drinking and stuff. And then I hear these stories all the time about people that are having these company Christmas parties. And my brother used to work for a law firm that, and it finally got stopped because I think the wives got tired of it. They used to do an overnight stay holiday party that wives were not invited to. I think any holiday party that spouses aren't invited to is really shady. Unless it's at your work during the

02:54:52 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 4:

day like it's during work hours like our potluck thing that we have of course right but if it's like at a place or whatever and they say

02:55:00 - 02:55:05 | Speaker 2:

no spouses allowed to me that gives me a pit in my stomach yeah no that's not cool no spouses

02:55:05 - 02:55:11 | Speaker 5:

allowed means the guy who planned that party is banging somebody in the office and wants to be

02:55:11 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 4:

able to fully enjoy himself man i always talk about how crazy these quicken parties are and i remember one year and tell me if this isn't suggestive you walk into it was at uh huntington now but Cobo Hall you walk into Cobo Hall there are about 30 floating beds hanging from the ceiling I swear to God like actual bed beds actually beds that you could sit on and like they could swing like no literal beds could you get up on the bed yes you could lay up they were like instead of having chairs is that how you had Josiah no no no this is okay he was probably one at the time He was already walking. Just making sure. Yeah, yeah. So literally floating beds instead of chairs and couches for people to sit on.

02:55:54 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 2:

Was there a theme? Because I know there's a theme every year to their parties. I don't know.

02:55:57 - 02:56:02 | Speaker 4:

You can tell what that theme was. That was a wild one.

02:56:02 - 02:56:20 | Speaker 5:

Texture here says, I ain't calling because I still work there. But my coworker and I started making out last year at the holiday party, and we've had to keep our relationship quiet. But another one here, 616 says, made out with a co-worker at a Christmas party led to my firing the next day.

02:56:20 - 02:56:21 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:56:21 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 5:

Jay, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you? Very good. And yourself? Good. You didn't kiss a co-worker. Who did you kiss at the company Christmas party?

02:56:31 - 02:57:03 | Speaker 3:

Well, let's just say there was some alcohol involved a lot. um and i found out the following monday when my boss sat me down in his office he awkwardly uncomfortably let me know that if i ever touched his daughter again that it would be the last day i ever worked there no i did not know that this was his daughter i had never met her i did not know but let me just tell you i stayed working there for years after that and And he never spoke to his daughters again. Oh, my God. So I thought you might. That was uncomfortable.

02:57:04 - 02:57:10 | Speaker 5:

By the way, I think bringing your daughter to the party with a bunch of dudes hanging out there is probably not a great idea for that boss.

02:57:11 - 02:57:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, in other words, there was a lot of other family. People were bringing their sisters and their spouses. It was a family function party, but by no means, I had no idea. And we were in an office, and it just happened. and another co-worker saw it and then the boss found out so Monday morning

02:57:31 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 5:

was essentially uncomfortable I betcha, yeah, thank you for the call I got to voice this guy, is this one? Initial L, are you there?

02:57:38 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 3:

Hi, yes I am

02:57:40 - 02:57:50 | Speaker 5:

Alright, the stat again that I just read and this is for anybody that's got a holiday party coming up 1 in 6 people have admitted to kissing a co-worker at the company holiday party what happened?

02:57:51 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 1:

So my wife of 5 years actually cheated on me and her Christmas party with her boss.

02:57:58 - 02:58:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Wow. So how did you find out about that?

02:58:04 - 02:58:06 | Speaker 1:

I went through her phone.

02:58:06 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man.

02:58:08 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 4:

Was her boss male or female?

02:58:10 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 1:

Female, and she was married to a man. Oh, my God.

02:58:15 - 02:58:17 | Speaker 5:

That is craziness.

02:58:17 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 1:

Are they still together?

02:58:19 - 02:58:40 | Speaker 5:

She hung up the phone. She hung up. Dang. Wait a second. Is this Cavs? Who is this? Jasmine? No. No, no, no. Okay, because he talks about Jasmine, Josiah's mom, and he talks about Quicken Loans and how they met there. But you were actually at the Quicken Loans party with the Beds? Remember that?

02:58:41 - 02:58:58 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was. Yeah, I remember it. I have a picture sitting on one. And I remember when we walked in, I was like, this is strange. I mean, it's kind of cool, but it's really weird. And I think that was one where they had, like, the, what are those called, like, the aerial ladies that, like, hang from the... The silk, yeah.

02:58:58 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 3:

The silk artist. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.

02:59:00 - 02:59:05 | Speaker 5:

Okay. All right. That's interesting. Shout out to Quicken Loans, man.

02:59:05 - 02:59:06 | Speaker 4:

I don't be making this stuff up.

02:59:07 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's amazing. Thanks, Jasmine. I appreciate you.

02:59:10 - 02:59:11 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

02:59:11 - 02:59:17 | Speaker 5:

Jake, I like this one. We were talking about making out with a coworker. Jake, you did not make out with a coworker, but what happened?

02:59:18 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 2:

No, sir. What's up, Mojo? So, I just want to say first time, long time. Hey, Taylor, say it again, Kevin, I love it. Taylor, yeah, yeah, so at an old work, I worked for a factory. We had a Christmas party at a banquet hall and stuff, you know, an open bar. Everybody was wasted, and, you know, we were on the dance floor dancing, and the older janitor lady was out there dancing, the song Smack That's playing, and she kind of just turned and looked at me, and she was like, Smack That and fetch over for me. I looked around all confused for a minute, but I was drunk enough and cocked back and smacked her. A whole company right in front of the dance floor. Oh, my God.

03:00:00 - 03:00:02 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine Gina the cleaning lady? Yes.

03:00:02 - 03:00:15 | Speaker 5:

I love you, Gina. Oh, that's great, Jake. This is the best texter of them all, and I don't know if we could even put this on the radio, but at our company Christmas party, somebody stuck their D on the ice sculpture.

03:00:15 - 03:00:22 | Speaker 3:

Ew. Did it get stuck? It would get stuck. Yeah, what's that one movie y'all like? Christmas story. He got his tag on the pole. For a V-Log.

03:00:23 - 03:00:25 | Speaker 5:

Jones, what happened at your company Christmas party?

03:00:26 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 2:

I messed around. I had sex with a coworker afterwards. I had to walk her back to her car because she was a little drunk, so.

03:00:33 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what was it like the next day that you guys came into work? Was it weird? Was it awkward?

03:00:40 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 2:

It was kind of weird. We just looked at each other. We didn't say anything, but nobody flounced out. Her mom worked there, too, so it was weird.

03:00:46 - 03:00:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Buddy, you are incredible. That's unbelievable. All right. Well, behave yourself. Appreciate you so much.

03:00:57 - 03:00:59 | Speaker 2:

Motor in the Morning's top trending stories.

03:01:00 - 03:01:06 | Speaker 5:

All right. Top trending stories of the day. We will start with this one.

03:01:10 - 03:01:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it just did it to me again. Uh-oh. Something just happened. Here we go. Interesting. Yeah. Hold on a second here. Hold on. There we go. All right. Stop that for one second.

03:01:25 - 03:01:32 | Speaker 5:

All right. There you go. It just did that to me again. And it hasn't done it to me in a while. The satellite thing? It just took over. Yeah, the satellite thing.

03:01:33 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

03:01:34 - 03:02:54 | Speaker 5:

All right, now we go. Now we're good. Thank you. Call Tony. Tell Tony. The freaks of nature here in the studio. Listen to this. A state-by-state parents across the U.S. are splurging on their kids this holiday season. Parents, they say, overall, American parents are expected to spend about $461 per child's wish list. according to a new survey that was done by Coupon Birds. And they found out that there were states that spend the most, the states that spend the most, New Jersey, with moms and dads dropping a generous $712 per child on their gifts. New York is expected to rack up about $598. Meanwhile, South Dakota will spend about $247. And they'll tell their kids, go outside and go enjoy the snow. They'll probably do something like that. But the top tier states are definitely New Jersey, Texas, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, the most modest budgets, South Dakota, West Virginia, Nebraska, as far as Michigan and Ohio. Michigan's more than Ohio, $588 per kid, while Ohio is $467 per kid, as far as how much they're spending on kids. By the way, everything's so expensive nowadays. The wrapping paper alone is expensive. I know. You know?

03:02:54 - 03:02:57 | Speaker 1:

Unless you're saving it and reusing it. Oh, my God.

03:02:58 - 03:03:46 | Speaker 5:

This next story is one of my favorites. How to hide gift disappointment during the holidays. Plenty of people have had to fake excitement when it comes to a gift that they were getting. And a new survey founds people have RGF, resting gift face. I love that. I think that's the greatest. They surveyed a bunch of people and they said that ways that you can tell if you're not excited over a gift is you thank them right away going, oh, thank you for thinking of me or saying the words, I love it or I really appreciate this. The survey also found that 24% of people will avoid eye contact, a clearest sign of gift dissatisfaction.

03:03:46 - 03:03:55 | Speaker 1:

I feel like it's all over my face even if I'm trying really hard to pretend if I don't like something. I'm so bad when it comes to that.

03:03:55 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 5:

I hate opening gifts in front of people So do I

03:03:59 - 03:04:20 | Speaker 3:

When I was younger My grandmother, one grandmother She only bought clothes It got to a point where my sister and I Would open up her boxes, immediately look And push to the side that we didn't give for two years She's like I ain't buying you nothing It was two years she went without buying those gifts You didn't deserve them Who wants clothes bro? I was like Space Jam It just came up

03:04:20 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 1:

Until you're like 10 and then you start wanting certain things, but up until then, those are the worst. You would see that box and you would know exactly.

03:04:30 - 03:04:54 | Speaker 5:

Immediately. One quarter of parents are using bribery to get their kids to do things. Duh. A quarter of them, three out of five admit to threatening, misbehaving children with no Santa Claus or gifts if they don't shape up. Parents say that the threat has started earlier than ever with the kids of this generation, that they've started that threat as early as August. That's wild.

03:04:55 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 1:

Two things. That number is way too low. And B, isn't that why Elf on the Shelf was invented? Yes.

03:05:00 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. That's the easiest one. But Elf on the Shelf doesn't come until what time?

03:05:04 - 03:05:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, some elves come right after Thanksgiving, and some elves wait until December 1st. Our elves don't arrive until December 1st.

03:05:12 - 03:05:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

03:05:12 - 03:05:15 | Speaker 3:

Is that because you have a lazy elf or a lazy elf caretaker?

03:05:16 - 03:05:20 | Speaker 1:

It's because our elf has always just come December 1st.

03:05:20 - 03:05:23 | Speaker 3:

Okay. That's just the tradition. That's how it started. You don't want to call the elf caretaker lazy.

03:05:24 - 03:05:26 | Speaker 1:

Because she not. All right.

03:05:27 - 03:05:55 | Speaker 3:

Do you guys ever get faced with this? And I know you have. Outfit stress. Do you ever have outfit stress? What do you mean? What's an example? They say that Gen Zers suffer from high outfit stress around this time of the year because of holiday parties. The stress is, what are you going to wear? And the average Gen Zer will pick out seven or eight different things out of their closet before they decide on just one. And usually it's the first thing they pick out of their closet or have an idea that they're going to wear.

03:05:56 - 03:05:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's not a Gen Z thing. That's an everybody thing. Yeah.

03:06:00 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 3:

I feel like that's something that we all do But I also feel like that is something Probably more that Women do than guys do

03:06:07 - 03:06:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean I've had those situations though And I always hate myself when I'm in it It puts you in a bad mood To wherever you're going At that point it's like nothing looks good And I'm frustrated Then you end up wearing something you've already worn before Just because you know you feel comfortable

03:06:24 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 1:

And for girls then you're sweating By that point because you've tried on so many different combinations Of something

03:06:29 - 03:06:29 | Speaker 2:

Combination.

03:06:30 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 3:

All right, what am I going to do for this song? What's a good, don't we, isn't there like a Jay-Z song or something like that? There are a lot of them. No, or a Kanye song that's Jesus or something like that.

03:06:41 - 03:06:42 | Speaker 2:

Jesus Walks, bro.

03:06:42 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jesus Walks, that's right.

03:06:43 - 03:06:45 | Speaker 2:

Come on, man, track six on the first album.

03:06:45 - 03:06:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

03:06:46 - 03:06:47 | Speaker 2:

Came on August 16, 2014. Oh, my.

03:06:48 - 03:07:46 | Speaker 3:

Wow. All right, here we go, here we go. need a new gig grow a beard because there is a Jesus model boom that is going on where Christ lookalikes make an insane amount of money posing for holiday cards people are not taking pictures with just Santa Claus I guess they say that some Jesus lookalikes the son of God lookalikes can earn $200 an hour oh my god posing as Jesus and they say that it's a big deal right now where there's a lot of people that are doing it for church functions. They say that Christmas time is not really a big time of the year for Jesus lookalikes, but they do say that it is a big time of year when you get to Easter for Jesus lookalikes. I don't necessarily know. Like I see the guys all the time that look like Michael Jackson or those guys that look like Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson. I think I'm going to go to hell if I'm a Jesus lookalike.

03:07:47 - 03:08:05 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? Like I'm not making money off of our Lord and Savior. Yeah, two things. One, I was very wrong on the release date of the album. But more importantly to the topic, for Halloween, I saw what Jesus looked like, and he had a cloud draped over his hoverboard or something like that. Does it look like he was floating? That's the kind of Jesus I like.

03:08:05 - 03:08:07 | Speaker 3:

If you don't do it, you got to go in. You got to go in for it.

03:08:08 - 03:08:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, because which version of Jesus do you pose as? Are you like Passion of the Christ Jesus? I like the baby version best. If you come manger.

03:08:16 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 3:

Lord and Savior. No. Lord and Savior with the staff. You know, with the flowing hair and the big beard.

03:08:21 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 2:

But everybody going that way. If you come manger. But that's Moses.

03:08:24 - 03:08:26 | Speaker 3:

Facts. Yeah, I don't know.

03:08:27 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 2:

You got to come baby. I like manger. Full baby.

03:08:29 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 3:

And the last story I want to do, because this is a big one. You guys have heard of winter coating, right? Winter coating is the trend in which people reach out to old flames during the winter.

03:08:39 - 03:08:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

03:08:40 - 03:08:40 | Speaker 3:

That's winter coating.

03:08:41 - 03:08:43 | Speaker 1:

I can't keep track of all these names, but okay.

03:08:43 - 03:09:32 | Speaker 3:

Have you heard of snowmanning? I like where this is heading. By the way, snowmanning, be careful, it could spread STIs. STIs. One doctor is warning against the troubling thing that goes on during the wintertime, which is sexual winter trend snowmanning that could lead to the risk of catching a sexually transmitted infection like syphilis, herpes, and gonorrhea. What is it? Snowmanning describes ending a relationship after the chemistry wears off, typically over the holidays. They say that according to this doctor, if contact details weren't exchanged, leaving no way for a fling to let you know that they were experiencing troubling symptoms, they say that people will not actually let them know, the past relationships know, that you might have something that they

03:09:32 - 03:09:35 | Speaker 1:

should go get checked out. So it's basically a Christmas time one night stand. Pretty much.

03:09:35 - 03:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Meanwhile, winter season also gives a rise in dating trends like sledding, which is when singletons drag someone along through the holidays with the intentions of dumping them come New Year's.

03:09:56 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, we talked about that a lot this week.

03:09:58 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 3:

So that's something that.

03:10:00 - 03:10:01 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know I had a name.

03:10:01 - 03:10:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I just love that they come up with stupid names like this all the time. Heather, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, Heather.

03:10:09 - 03:10:29 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Two things. Kevin, I don't blame you about those clothes. My aunt used to buy me clothes all the time for Christmas that she purposefully knew were too small. Like we're talking, I'm a grown teenage adult wearing adult clothes and she'd buy me children size medium. Oh my God. Second thing. My God, I'm glad I'm married because wow, that is too much stuff going on over the Christmas

03:10:29 - 03:11:06 | Speaker 4:

the holidays i can figure out a mate exactly yeah hey we love you merry christmas to you christmas merry christmas guys have a fantastic day we are back tomorrow morning for more mojo in the morning the last throwback throwdown of the year i came up with this idea since kev is obviously the winner of the most throwback throwdown contest i thought about doing it like final jeopardy where you can gamble away all your wins to try to become the ultimate champion Or if you, in Kevin's case, he's actually leading, I think, Mike, who's in second place, or Shannon. I'm one of those two in second place.

03:11:06 - 03:11:07 | Speaker 1:

It's not me.

03:11:08 - 03:11:14 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't it be kind of a fun thing where if Shannon bets all her wins against being the champion?

03:11:14 - 03:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, well, like, secretly. Like, if we don't know.

03:11:18 - 03:11:20 | Speaker 4:

Let's see how much money she did.

03:11:20 - 03:11:21 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes.

03:11:21 - 03:11:24 | Speaker 1:

Of course the people who aren't in the lead are excited.

03:11:25 - 03:11:26 | Speaker 4:

We'll see you tomorrow.

03:11:27 - 03:11:27 | Speaker 1:

Make a good bet.

03:11:27 - 03:11:38 | Speaker 4:

Let's see what happens. Tomorrow morning, break and enter in Christmas wish, too. Have a great day, guys. Bye. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:11:39 - 03:11:41 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the morning.

03:11:41 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 2:
