00:02:21 - 00:02:51 | Unknown:

We'll be right back.

00:02:51 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 3:

all right it is mojo in the morning the dirty phone scams all coming up remember on mondays we do second date update tuesdays breakup or makeup six on sex uh wednesdays five lies to tell your mom thursdays the big one the war of the roses fridays throwback throwdown so we've got a lot of stuff that we do on this radio program and we love that our listeners participate so thank you for uh for doing that um megan yeah you just turned your mic on i like that You didn't have it on the whole time?

00:03:48 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 4:

No, because then you know what you would hear all the time from me?

00:03:53 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 3:

I can hear when they all said it's like dead quiet and all of a sudden, and here's the air conditioning unit going off in Toledo there at that moment or whatever the system is. All right, so Megan, I want to talk about you. So you went to go to a piercer. And how much money later?

00:04:13 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Bro, let me tell you. Now, I went to the piercer because I have wanted to, I hate to say this out loud, put myself together a little bit more often than I usually do. I usually have a kind of person who only looks presentable for something for work or something for work. and i thought you know it's time that i just start getting dressed up and doing my hair and my makeup and wearing jewelry just because it makes me feel better about myself right i think that's pretty normal here so i started wearing jewelry again and i've had like 50 piercings in my life so i've had i have tons of piercings but i rarely actually wear the jewelry started putting it in i hear my ears pierced that's great ears double pierced i realized one

00:05:00 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

One of them had closed up pretty normal. So I was like, you know what? I want to go to a piercing place, get that hole re-pierced, change out some jewelry. I really want to just simple, simple, simple, simple, simple, tiny little gold jewelry for like a cohesive look. Because right now I have like pink diamonds in and gold hoops and like silver bars and like nothing matches. And I just wanted to look like an adult, like I'm 30. It's time for me to look put together every once in a while. So I go to this piercing shop. I'm sitting there for, like, an hour, which is fine. I didn't have an appointment. They were busy. I get it. I had been to this place in the past. It had probably been about eight years since I had been to this particular shop, but I had been there. I knew what I was getting myself into. Cool. So he's busy. He can't give me a price on anything. Totally understand that. Waited an hour. I feel like I need, like, a drum roll or something when I tell you the quote that he gave to me because we picked out, okay, three piercings. I was going to get my second hole re-pierced. I was going to get my third holes done. So three lobe piercing and six pieces of jewelry. This man had the audacity to quote me close to $700 before taxes and taxes. What? I'm really glad you said that. What? So my face was like, I follow art, TikToks all the time. I understand that people have a value on their work and their effort and their craftsmanship and that he's at his prices and those are his prices. Don't laugh at his face. But I don't know how I didn't say this out loud because I say it all the time. But immediately what popped into my head was, in this economy? What? That's a mortgage payment. What the hell are you talking about?

00:06:47 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 2:

No. So the jewelry, was it real nice jewelry that came with it?

00:06:51 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 1:

Okay, when I tell you I wanted, okay, two tiny little gold balls, two tiny little gold hoops, and then that was it. That was it. That was it.

00:07:03 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, what a rip-off.

00:07:04 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

And I'm not kidding you. No way. So my forward helix is pierced three times. I was only going to put two in it. If you are a piercing girl, you know how tiny, tiny those piercings are. And he quoted me $150 for each ring. And I was like, what? Did you ask why? Yeah, I was like what what's the deal? So I was looking for gold jewelry. That was the whole thing was I mostly wear gold hoops I just wanted it to look cohesive whatever and he was like well This is our solid gold 14 Carat gold blub blub blub blub I was like, I'm pretty sure that can't be south. That's gold-plated No, you are lying sir. You are lying to me. What is it the price of gold? He's trying to claim that it was

00:07:46 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. It's expensive.

00:07:48 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Give me the fake stuff. I don't care.

00:07:51 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

All right, so you've got to go to my daughter. I'll hook it up. That's great. That's right. She's a piercer. She's a piercer. That's great. It's not going to be $700. Actually, it's funny. Even when I added my finder's fee. Megan in the beginning is talking about how she's all grown up, and I want to do some grown-up moves, and then I thought she was going to say, I went to the Piercing Pagoda or Claire's Boutique to go get it done. I don't think they still have Piercing Pagoda. I don't know. Remember that? You'd go to the mall piercing places, and then they would put you in the chair that faced right out so that all your middle school friends can see that you were getting a piercing at the mall.

00:08:24 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

That is asinine. I am vehemently anti-piercing gun. Like, very much, you go to a piercing place. When we left that store, I go, do I order one off of Amazon? Because it's going way cheaper than trying to go to a piercing place. I don't know if this man just lied to me to get me out of there and he was annoyed by me, or if those were, because there's no prices anywhere, so I don't know if this man's just lying to me, but I in this economy I walked out

00:08:52 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 2:

did you do that? that's like the great, that's the great line

00:08:56 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

in this economy no, I tried to be respectful and I was like oh, okay, and he was like not what you were expecting, I was like a little bit of sticker shock, let's just say I hadn't really budgeted for that price today, maybe I'll come back a different time, snatch all my personal information off of the counter and was like get me out of here can i tell you what's

00:09:18 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

funny though is when you go into a place like that and they give you the price and it's crazy uh crazy you always have to like you know what not what i was looking for and then you turn around and then you start looking at the display cases like as i like instead of just running out of the place like as fast as you possibly can you feel like i don't want this guy to think i can't afford anything so i gotta sit there and look you know it's like you should just turn around and go how dare you and run out of the place but like i don't did you but then a little part of me when

00:09:51 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

i got in the car was like did he think i was rich i was like what vibes do i get are you telling me that your chair is filled

00:10:00 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 2:

for three months straight, and you can afford to drive customers away? His chair is not filled for three months straight. He can't pay his rent. He's trying to figure out how to do it. That's like 50, 60 bucks

00:10:10 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 6:

of piercing with jewelry.

00:10:11 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 2:

Even if you want to upgrade the jewelry.

00:10:13 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 6:

He was super busy. He was so busy. And I was like,

00:10:18 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 3:

is everybody rich? What is happening? Angela, what's up? Hi, Angelica.

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Angelica, sorry.

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 3:

No, it's okay. Pays for a really good piercing always.

00:10:29 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you get what you pay for with piercings and tattoos.

00:10:33 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 3:

Like, I go to Ironclad in Rochester, really great, or maybe it's Troy. Anyways, but then you can go online and you can get really good quality jewelry. PVD coating is really good, and we're talking like $20, $30 maybe per thing.

00:10:52 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 5:

Do you think it's normal, though, for three piercings to cost more than half of a sleeve tattoo?

00:10:58 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 3:

So hear me out. First of all, I get all rose gold jewelry, and rose gold is hard to find. It has to be $14K or else I break out in hives, and I turn green. So I've paid like $100, $150 for a nose ring.

00:11:15 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

You are rich.

00:11:16 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. No, I'm not.

00:11:18 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask this question of salespeople? Because I often wonder this. Does a person's looks as they're coming in, does that tell you how much you're going to charge? because I like going to places where the prices are on the wall. So before I even ask what I want, and this comes with pedicures, I never know how much a pedicure costs at places, but I always will go to places that have it on the wall or you can pull it up on your phone and stuff. I don't like to sit there and go, yeah, I'd love to do that. Oh, my God. And they talk me into all this stuff, and at the end they give me the sticker shock of how much money it is. Right, when you didn't know. Exactly what Megan has. I don't necessarily want them to think that I'm rich, but I don't want them to think that I'm poor. And so I don't want them to think all of a sudden it's like, this guy can't. And I think as my male ego kind of goes along, I think that there are people that play along to that. Megan, you need to dress down for next time you go into the piercing place.

00:12:20 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 5:

Well, apparently.

00:12:20 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 2:

You need to walk out where the guy literally starts following you around the place.

00:12:25 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I didn't walk in with, like, Louis Vuittons or anything. I don't know what this man was thinking. It's that new haircut.

00:12:31 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 2:

I blame it all on super cuts and that new haircut you have.

00:12:35 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

That new haircut.

00:12:36 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 2:

That new haircut is making you look like a million bucks. A million. You're a million bucks. That's funny. That's a good line. Megan, that's the problem right there. I'm blaming it on those guys at super cuts. What's going on, Ashley?

00:12:52 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Yeah, I had to tell Megan. And I saw this the other day that Target is doing ear piercings. Yes.

00:12:58 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But I think they, I don't know that they're using. But I'm pretty sure it's with a gun. Right. That's what I was going to say. I didn't want to say it. Where do they do it? Next to the TVs? They do it a few times a month.

00:13:09 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they do it like a few times a month. It's always in like the little girl section, which I also think is a little bit odd.

00:13:15 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:13:16 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 4:

But yeah, they, I think it's a gun and I haven't seen them recently, but they like started popping up of just like randomly on weekends you would see like, our piercer is here with like a sign, but it's that chair and you're like facing the aisleways, so you're still getting that weird scene like if you were at Claire's.

00:13:34 - 00:13:42 | Speaker 2:

No offense, but I mean they do a lot of stuff, but I don't know if I think of, I don't think of Target as the place that you go to get piercings.

00:13:42 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 1:

You do everything at Target.

00:13:44 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah? Everything set. That's all it's going to all be from now on is just you just go to Target

00:13:48 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

and you can go to Target. That's where I got my

00:13:50 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 6:

colonoscopy.

00:13:52 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 2:

Was it the guy in the khaki shorts and the red shirt that gave you the Gullin house movie? The Starbucks was really strong. I had a blowout. Oh, man. So, needless to say, no piercing for Megan.

00:14:07 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 5:

I walked right out. So, all the people who said, you should have paid to fix your doorknabs instead of getting your piercings. Didn't get my either fixed.

00:14:14 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you very much. Wait, can you go to a piercer with your own jewelry? or do they make you have to buy the stuff from them?

00:14:23 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 5:

I'm sure they make you have to buy it.

00:14:25 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 2:

Is that like a little of a gimmick?

00:14:26 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 6:

No, they'll give you the little placeholder that's like $15 if you want a just cheap holder. But they have to put something in it immediately. And maybe for sanitary reasons, they have to give you something new, but you can just replace it as soon as you walk out. But you can't go. You don't have to buy a $100 stud.

00:14:43 - 00:14:55 | Speaker 2:

So you know who did piercings in my family? My dad. My dad was a doctor. And so he would do paracines. And actually, I think that Dr. Warner will do a paracine for you if you need a paracine.

00:14:55 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 5:

I think Dr. Warner might be getting a call from him. He will too, yeah.

00:14:57 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 2:

Yes. The only problem is... Go ahead. No, I was going to say, if you want to make the drive out here, I got a place you could go to.

00:15:02 - 00:15:12 | Speaker 6:

My daughter is a piercer. Why are you taking money out of her mouth? It's her first job. Nicole's first job ever, and everybody's hustling over her.

00:15:13 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 4:

I could take you to a friendship factory, though, where they braid your hair, and they do a makeover, and they put glitter all over you. Wait, there's glitter? And they take your picture with a cute backdrop. Wait, I want my picture taken. I'll go to piercing with you.

00:15:25 - 00:15:28 | Speaker 6:

I'll take your picture and throw glitter at you for an extra 20 bucks.

00:15:30 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 5:

Can you make an appointment for Megan and maybe work that out? I'm not joking.

00:15:33 - 00:15:35 | Speaker 3:

Is that Lucy wet? It was like, I kind of want to get something done.

00:15:35 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 6:

No, I'm saying Spike's daughter. She'll just take you as a walk-in. Whenever you're in town, she'll take you.

00:15:40 - 00:15:40 | Speaker 4:

All right, deal.

00:15:41 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 6:

Deal. I'll meet you there and hold your hand.

00:15:42 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 4:

Please.

00:15:43 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 6:

And try and upsell you. How about this?

00:15:45 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 5:

How about- And try and upsell you. Because you said no to her wanting to test or to try it out on you. Why don't you and Megan go together and both of you guys-

00:15:54 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 6:

No, that's why I'm delivering other customers.

00:15:57 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 4:

I'll do it if you do it. Whatever I get, you get.

00:15:59 - 00:16:02 | Speaker 6:

All right, you first. I'm going to Annie Ann's Pretzels next door.

00:16:04 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 5:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:16:09 - 00:16:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, cheating on a good person is like throwing away a diamond and picking up a rock. War of the Roses, coming up at 7 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:16:18 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Mike, a little holiday side hustle, huh? This is the time of year where you need a little extra cash?

00:16:26 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so, like, I always, like, I've done DoorDash before. I've done Uber before. I started messing around on TikTok when the pandemic hit. And I literally only had maybe one video do well. And it was the sign video, the sign outside of my house.

00:16:43 - 00:16:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, don't go away, or what did it say?

00:16:45 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So every other sign says welcome, and mine in my neighborhood says go away. Yeah. Which was, it was funny. But it did, it got, like, 13 million views or something crazy like that. I've never been able to get that again. I'll probably never hit that again But I was talking to Cody in Promotions Who is really, really good on TikTok too And she's like You need to monetize this You have a decent amount of followers or whatever And you have a video that went viral You can make some money off this I'm like, no way She's like, once you hit certain followers Request it or whatever So I did And then she's like, repost that viral video and watch So I did You making money? I got $65 in my account. Wow. Cha-cha-cha-ching.

00:17:30 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 5:

No big deal. Guess who's buying coffee today?

00:17:32 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 3:

For reposting a video.

00:17:34 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 6:

I know. Don't say this out loud. The company's going to try and get that money from you.

00:17:39 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 5:

What money? By the way, I heard a lot of people are making a ton of money lately on reels, too. Really? Yeah, I heard that's a big one right now, that they're giving you some cash for that. So we've got to get you more followers then, right? What is your TikTok? Everything is on-air mic. So on-air mic. Well, you got to do something, you know, to make me interested in wanting to also view. I'm not going to just follow you on TikTok if you're just going to repost the same thing that got a lot of views last time.

00:18:09 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 2:

I only did that one just because. It was like a trial. Yeah, just to see if it would work. I only have maybe one or two other videos that I would say are decent, if I'm being honest, that are decent. And I think that TikTok, the algorithm It works very well Where it feeds out stuff That it thinks is going to do well

00:18:26 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 6:

It's very random, people have had a hard time Cracking the algorithms on TikTok

00:18:30 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 3:

But it's such a good side hustle for the holiday Put your beautiful wife

00:18:35 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 6:

In more videos and I'll watch

00:18:36 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 5:

I like you doing DoorDash though Because I think that gives us Even though the virals gets us in front of listeners I like you DoorDashing and walking up to people's homes And them going Is this a Christmas wish?

00:18:48 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 3:

And you're like, no, I just have your Chipotle.

00:18:52 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 5:

I guess that could be kind of a Christmas wish if that's what you're looking for, if you're hungry. But you were trying to do a whole bunch of it. What was the other one, too?

00:19:00 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 3:

I remember the one. Didn't you have some sort of phone number that you posted on the back of your car? What was that for?

00:19:07 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 2:

It was an advertising company, and you got paid. I think it was a pyramid scheme. But you got paid based on how many people called the number. I forgot about that. Yeah, it was like a coupon book. So, like, if you called that number, they gave you a bunch of coupons to all these different places, but you had to go through a big, long survey or whatever. So I threw it on the back of my car.

00:19:26 - 00:19:28 | Speaker 3:

Did you make any money from that? Well, no.

00:19:28 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 5:

What did you make more money with, your TikTok or that? The TikTok. Really? Yeah. You didn't make at least $65 with the driving around with some random phone number on your car?

00:19:38 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know. I don't think that, yeah. There wasn't a lot of direction with that one, I don't think.

00:19:42 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 5:

It was just a number. How about this? I will offer you $100 a month, but you have to put on the back of your car a sign that says, the driver has a small wiener. You're going to need more than $100 for that. $100 a month is more than what you're making on tape.

00:20:00 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 3:

I think that we've got to figure something out for Mike, like a side hustle that's big. Because I think the TikTok thing is a good idea. And I think that now you're going to get some more followers, right? Because we just plugged it. Yes. But I also think that there's got to be something. Like, I think you should do... How about this? Dance Moms with Cecily. Can we get Cecily on one of those shows? You don't want to do that to her. Oh, come on. All those kids that are on those shows They're all healthy They're all healthy and well adjusted

00:20:33 - 00:20:34 | Speaker 1:

Just look at Honey Boo Boo

00:20:34 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say, was that Honey Boo Boo that was on there?

00:20:36 - 00:20:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, come on

00:20:37 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 3:

I know some parents that expose their children Some parents I know expose their children To try to make money Mike, you should do that You got cute kids How about this, advertising with your kids And they have to hold the advertisement thing up there On your TikTok, we'll put it all together I'm not advertising my kids No.

00:21:00 - 00:21:06 | Speaker 2:

Christmas is coming because I see a lot of ho-ho-hos at the mall, mall, mall. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:21:06 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 3:

All right, Mojo in the Morning Show. So are you like Shannon? Are you the type of person that just has to know? So what's the story? So your boyfriend, Wes?

00:21:18 - 00:22:44 | Speaker 1:

He's a big DIY guy. You guys know this, right? He's one of those types of guys that refuses to pay for anything to be done around the house unless he absolutely can't do it. So he will fix anything. He paints. He'll rip up flooring and put in new flooring. He does all his own landscape, like all that stuff. But the one thing that he will spend money on is a cleaning person because he said, you know, I'd rather spend money on that and have that extra time with my kids and have it done the right way and whatever. So the other day he says to me that he accidentally overslept, which he never does. he wakes up like around the same time we do to get his day started he overslept and he said i woke up to uh the cleaning lady walking into my house and he goes thank god because i you know i finally got up to start the day and i thought i think i even said to him oh this sounds like the beginning of you know a porn like you're you're sleeping in your bed and your cleaning lady walks into your house right and she can walk into his house i'm like come on you know and she has the access to get inside so i don't know what his cleaning lady looks like i've never met her before so then i got curious being the crazy person that i am and you would all agree with that statement i know um go ahead agree with it so i wanted to know what she looked like i know he pays her via venmo

00:22:44 - 00:22:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so she's not 70 years old.

00:22:46 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 1:

So I went to Venmo to see what she looked like, to look at her profile.

00:22:51 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 3:

How did you see what she looks like on Venmo?

00:22:52 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 1:

Because you have a profile picture.

00:22:54 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

00:22:55 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 1:

And she did. When I told Wes this, he's like, are you out of your mind that you had to know? But I had to know. And now I know.

00:23:05 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 3:

Now you know.

00:23:06 - 00:23:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:23:06 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 3:

It's a little creepy. You know what, though? I think that a majority of people. I was just curious.

00:23:12 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 1:

I feel like every girlfriend or wife, whatever your situation is, would just want to peak.

00:23:19 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 3:

If you know that somebody of the opposite sex or somebody of your wife's, you know, pleasure sex were to be hanging out or girlfriend's house, you know, whatever, like, or, you know, if you know, you go look. Yeah, absolutely.

00:23:33 - 00:23:35 | Speaker 1:

If you know you could, you would go look.

00:23:35 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 3:

You'd figure it out. You'd want to know.

00:23:38 - 00:23:39 | Speaker 1:

He told me I was crazy, too. Yeah.

00:23:39 - 00:24:12 | Speaker 3:

I mean. Chelsea always talks about our UPS guy. You don't think that I look on my ring camera every time that that UPS guy. Do you see what he looks like? Oh, not only do I look, I can actually eavesdrop on their conversations with each other. So when he comes to the door and rings, oh, yeah. Oh, that's great. I hear it go. How is so-and-so? Oh, how is this person? Like she's having kind of full-on conversation. I'm like, how do you know these people like that? And she's like, I don't just sit there and have them leave the package. I talk to them and feed them and massage their feet. So what do these two people, what does the UPS guy look like? and what does the cleaning lady look like?

00:24:13 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 1:

Well, from what I can tell from her little Venmo profile picture, she's blonde, and I would say she's maybe mid to late 30s. Really? She's cute. Attractive? Yeah, she's cute.

00:24:25 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 3:

Would she star in a...

00:24:26 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 1:

I'm not going to say that about somebody.

00:24:28 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 2:

But now the next move is going to be... Willingly. Shannon is going to incidentally just be sleeping over the night she comes to clean so she can bump into her the next morning and see her in person.

00:24:37 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

um the guy the guy that's the ups guy mike looks exactly like the ups guy in what you would see a movie like he's one of those guys like he's got he's got kind of like the cool sandy blonde hair he's like well fit and all that stuff it was like ah why is this why does he have to come to my and he wears shorts all the time showing off his freaking calves you know

00:24:59 - 00:25:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:25:00 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 7:

but they always look that way Mike are you the type of person if Ali starts talking about like the guy at the office do you want to know what the guy at the office looks like

00:25:09 - 00:25:22 | Speaker 8:

so there was two situations where this is one there was a guy that came in and she was so she's a dental assistant and he came in and he he was the funniest guy she's ever talked to basically

00:25:22 - 00:25:26 | Speaker 2:

I remember talking about this yeah for those listeners

00:25:26 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 7:

that don't recall that that bothers Mike, then he was the greatest looking guy ever. No, I don't care. I don't care

00:25:33 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 8:

about that. Like, I'm supposed to be the funniest person in the world to her. To everybody else, I don't really care, but to her, this guy came and sat in her chair, and he was so... She was telling me stories. She's like, I haven't laughed that hard in so long. And I was like, what? And the other one is when we had somebody working on our house and she brought him in for a sandwich.

00:25:50 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 2:

And I was like... Oh, that's right. Made him her famous breakfast sandwich that you've never even gotten, right? Yep.

00:25:56 - 00:25:57 | Unknown:

Oh.

00:25:58 - 00:26:04 | Speaker 7:

Pam wants to be voice disguised. What's up, Pam? Hi. Hey, what's going on? Why are you voice disguising yourself?

00:26:06 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 1:

I just, I work for Amazon. I know a lot of people listen to this station. Oh, okay.

00:26:12 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 7:

All right.

00:26:12 - 00:26:13 | Speaker 1:

Tell me your story.

00:26:13 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 7:

What are you calling about?

00:26:14 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I love my chiropractor visits. He is so sexy. Those are my favorite appointments ever. I know that it's silly, but. Now, are you in a relationship?

00:26:27 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 2:

Yes. And does your significant other ever ask what your chiropractor looks like?

00:26:34 - 00:26:45 | Speaker 1:

He's seen him, and he knows that I think that he's sexy, but, like, he's younger, so, like, he knows that I never would, like, stray from our relationship.

00:26:45 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 7:

Who's younger? Your boyfriend is younger and the chiropractor's a little older?

00:26:49 - 00:26:51 | Speaker 1:

No, no, the chiropractor's younger.

00:26:51 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. But he's got great hands, huh?

00:26:54 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he's got great everything.

00:26:58 - 00:27:27 | Speaker 5:

again uh what's up olivia hi what's going on well i'm a cleaning lady and there's that i start very early in the morning and sometimes people do forget you're coming and so when i walk into the house i always like yell good morning just so they know i'm there um hello yeah we're listening

00:27:27 - 00:27:29 | Speaker 7:

I'm sorry, I'm listening as I'm listening to this music.

00:27:29 - 00:27:35 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, it's okay. Intently listening. So you were saying they forget you're coming.

00:27:37 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes, yes. They forget all about it. So one morning I walk into a house. I yell, good morning. I don't hear anything. I don't think anybody's there. So I start walking up the stairs, and then here comes this lady out of her bathroom with her back to me. because it's like, she couldn't see me when she came out of the bathroom, but she was completely nude, and she just walked into her bedroom. Yeah. Really? I froze. I froze.

00:28:05 - 00:28:07 | Speaker 6:

I love cleaning up naked.

00:28:07 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 5:

I very, very slowly backed down the stairs and then yelled good morning again.

00:28:12 - 00:28:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:28:12 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 5:

And I saw everything. Very awkward.

00:28:18 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 7:

All right. Thank you for the call. This is, by the way, probably, it's got to be, like, is it cleaning lady porn? Is that, like, a big thing? Probably, right? What's up, Hannah? Hi. Hannah?

00:28:30 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 3:

Yep, and then she changed her answer.

00:28:33 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 7:

What's going on?

00:28:35 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 6:

I'm a cleaning lady in the metro Detroit area, and I had a customer once tell me that she almost didn't hire me because I was too attractive for her husband.

00:28:48 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 7:

Hmm. Really? Wow. Yeah. So what do you do in that case? You just lose the job or do you? A lot of times I do. Yeah. Are you, do you have any openings at all?

00:29:05 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 4:

Amanda, what's going on? Hi. So I'm calling in as a nanny And I often go in in early mornings, so I've seen everything from the whole house being asleep and me creeping in to one particular experience where I think the mom was feeling a little bit jealous. I don't know if it was about my looks or my interactions with the nanny kid's dad, but she decided one morning to wear only her underwear around the house all day. Oh. Oh, that's so awkward for everybody.

00:29:43 - 00:29:44 | Speaker 2:

Let her finish. Let her finish.

00:29:46 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 7:

So she was doing this in front of you?

00:29:51 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yes, she was. She just came down in her leopard print underwear, and I was shocked. I mean, no one's ever done that before. I mean, people have asked. that I dress more conservatively, maybe if I'm wearing short shorts, but I've never seen

00:30:05 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 2:

the opposite side of that. Do you think she was trying to turn you on, or do you think that she was trying to, I don't know, like put her stakes in the ground, so to speak, with her husband and lay her claim on him?

00:30:21 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 4:

I think it was more of a lay your claim thing, but I didn't really consider that she might be trying to turn me on.

00:30:29 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. Oh, I never, that's interesting. These are all very interesting calls. We should do this topic more often.

00:30:38 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 5:

Holly, what's going on? Yes, hello. Good day to you guys. Good day. Good day.

00:30:43 - 00:30:44 | Speaker 1:

Good day.

00:30:44 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. So I am a subcontractor, and I'm the only female, and I work with a lot of Hispanic men. None of them speak really good English or any English at all. So my husband never, ever wanted, ever in life, and I've been with him almost 20 years, I've ever wanted to know what any of my male co-workers look like. Until a couple of months back, I downloaded the Delingo app to learn Spanish. And then all of a sudden, he's like, you know, I know you're going to be working late today. I'm going to stop by and bring you some lunch. What? That's weird. Next thing I know, he's slow trying to creep. And he's going to come a distance to see if any one of them are coming out of the unit.

00:31:33 - 00:31:48 | Speaker 2:

That's fantastic. He's wondering, why is she learning Spanish? Who's this guy? Oh, that's great. I love that. That is awesome. How do you say, how do you say, was it muy guapo?

00:31:48 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 5:

So, right now, I'm just kind of basic, you know, with the como está, or like when I say, you know, necesito ahora, you know, like, do you need help, or, you know, different little things. It's so cute with your accent, by the way.

00:32:06 - 00:32:11 | Speaker 2:

Let me test you out. How do you say, meet me behind the house naked?

00:32:14 - 00:32:20 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Okay. You know what? I bet my husband's promise.

00:32:24 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 2:

You know what you do is you walk in and you call your husband Poppy once and just walk away. Right, right.

00:32:29 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no.

00:32:30 - 00:32:32 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for the call, Holly. Take care of yourself.

00:32:33 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 5:

Bye, Holly. Yes, you as well.

00:32:34 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 2:

00:34:26 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 6:

I've never heard of smites in a tree before.

00:34:28 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you work in a nursery and you never heard of tree smites. Well, we're pretty familiar. My wife bent over to decorate the tree and she heard them making the noise and she heard the screaming tree smites and they started biting her neck and ankles and belly and earlobes and teeth. It's a lobster in the ointment this holiday season.

00:34:48 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 6:

You know that this is a nursery, right?

00:34:50 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know. I got the receipt and she's got these little bites all over her body and she's a bleeder.

00:34:59 - 00:35:01 | Unknown:

Uh... You

00:35:00 - 00:35:03 | Speaker 2:

Tree smites. Tree smites! You're saying they make sounds. They make noises.

00:35:03 - 00:35:14 | Speaker 5:

They make a clicking sound. They go, kick it, kick it, kick it, kick it, kick it, like that. You know what? You hear that? You know it's over, baby. Write a ticket.

00:35:14 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 2:

Sir, if you could just hang on for one second so I could just talk to some of the other employees. Oh, gee. Just please, hang on one second. Hang on, hang on. Hurry up!

00:35:25 - 00:35:26 | Unknown:

Hello?

00:35:28 - 00:35:33 | Speaker 5:

00:35:33 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 2:

00:36:21 - 00:36:24 | Speaker 3:

Leah, who is it that you think that your husband is cheating with?

00:36:25 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 4:

Um, I think my sister.

00:36:28 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 3:

Your sister? Why do you suspect that?

00:36:34 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 4:

I live in Michigan, and she lives in Dayton, and he travels a lot for work. And so he travels over there sometimes, and instead of staying at a hotel or whatever, he stays at my sister's place.

00:36:51 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 3:

So why would that be that he's cheating? Maybe he's just trying to save money.

00:36:58 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 4:

i mean that's that's what i thought in the beginning but he's going a lot right now and not too long ago i i called his secretary uh because i was trying to reach him and because he wasn't picking up so i told her that you know i couldn't reach him and you know because he's out of town right now and she said that she didn't know why he was out there because he didn't need

00:37:20 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 6:

to travel so much wait you mean the secretary was complaining that he travels too much or she was saying you he actually didn't need to be out there right now like she didn't even know he was

00:37:31 - 00:37:48 | Speaker 4:

there well that particular time she didn't know he was there and then i started i proceeded to continue the conversation and said well he goes out there all the time for work and she's like i don't know why because he doesn't need to be so is your sister single she's divorced okay and

00:37:48 - 00:37:53 | Speaker 6:

i mean that's weird if his own secretary didn't know he was there yeah i mean have you talked to

00:37:53 - 00:37:59 | Speaker 3:

her about it have you like or talk to him about it have you have you ever said to him hey what's

00:37:59 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 4:

going on between the two of you guys no i didn't bring it up because i i didn't want to create something and have an opportunity for him to lie to me you know they they used to date you know when we were growing up you know oh what we didn't know that i mean that was a lot that was a long

00:38:18 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and Chad, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:40:33 - 00:40:34 | Unknown:

Yeah, that's fine.

00:40:34 - 00:40:35 | Speaker 2:

Great.

00:40:35 - 00:40:47 | Speaker 1:

Chad, I also need to jump on the phone here and just inform you about one other thing. Wait, who are you? I actually work for the same company.

00:40:48 - 00:40:48 | Unknown:

Okay.

I need to inform you that while you've been sending flowers to this woman that you sent them to, that your wife, Leah, is on the phone and just heard that? This is the Mojo in the morning show. And your wife was suspicious that something was going on with you. And Leah, is that your sister who he sent them to?

00:41:24 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:41:24 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 1:

and her sister Chad, why are you sending flowers to your sister-in-law?

00:41:46 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 3:

Because she I felt like needed a little pick-me-up something to make her feel better She's been going through a tough time.

00:42:00 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 2:

So then why wouldn't you sign the flowers, Chad and Leah?

00:42:07 - 00:42:17 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I just didn't think of it. I mean, they were asked. I don't know why you are suspicious, though.

00:42:17 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 1:

chad your uh your wife just hung up the phone because she's now thinking that you are having an affair with her sister and he hangs up too try to get uh try to get leah back on the uh the phone

00:42:42 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 2:

what's your thought i mean i think his excuse is crap because going back to what i said if you were you know if she was going through a rough time one her sister would know it and then wouldn't you send the flowers to her as a couple right yeah and and um i mean i would why but most of all

00:43:05 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 1:

more than even the sending the flowers why is it that you're going and staying with your sister-in-law when it's not needed and your receptionist or secretary or whoever at your work is basically calling out saying that he's not supposed to be going there yeah if you're on a work trip your your work knows you're on a trip this is the home of the war of the roses mojo in the morning join the discussion now 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 this is mojo in the morning Leah, who is it that you think that your husband is cheating with?

00:43:46 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 3:

Um, I think my sister.

00:43:49 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 2:

So first, I need the first and the last name of who you want the flowers to go to.

00:43:56 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 3:

Uh, Jamie.

00:43:59 - 00:44:06 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And before I get Jamie's info, I can also include a message on a card with the flowers. Did you want to do that?

00:44:06 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and then how should I sign your name?

00:44:17 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 2:

Love, from, or just... Me just put C.

00:44:22 - 00:44:31 | Speaker 1:

C. Leah is back on the phone with us. Leah, when you hung up the phone, what did you do?

00:44:33 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 3:

I tried to call the d***.

00:44:34 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

no answer she wasn't picking up have you ever suspected anything from these guys before the whole traveling situation anything in the in the past i suspected from my sister she's like she tried to a bunch of my my ex

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Unknown:

in the past. That's why she's divorced.

00:45:03 - 00:45:10 | Speaker 1:

She's divorced because she tried to have sex with one of your exes? Or she had tried to have sex with one of your relationships?

00:45:11 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So there's a history here

00:45:17 - 00:45:19 | Speaker 6:

of her doing this sort of thing to you.

00:45:20 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 3:

I just didn't think she'd do it with him.

00:45:25 - 00:45:25 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:45:26 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to put you back on hold so that we can talk more off the air. We're still trying to get Chad back on, but obviously he's not picking up. Chantel, I'm going to grab some listener calls here too. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Hi, Chantel. You wanted to make a comment on something that you heard.

00:45:46 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, good morning. I am wondering why he used a C for his name instead of putting his name. To me, that feels like he's trying to hide from anyone who may see the flowers?

00:45:58 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 1:

You know, that's actually good. Ellen, ask that question to Leah of why, is that like something that he called her or something? Oh, that is something that he called her. Okay. So I guess he would call her C or call him C because his name is Chad.

00:46:13 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:46:15 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

00:46:17 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 3:

I just think it's pretty suspicious. I feel like, like I said, he's trying to hide from anyone who may see the flowers other than her.

00:46:24 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 1:

Right, right. Mojo in the morning. Adam, what did you want to say?

00:46:28 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, everybody. I'm so sorry to hear that this is going on with Leah. Man, now that I hear he just signed his name C, maybe he's even embarrassed of his own name, Chad. Chad is just one of those names to me that is just, I never trusted Chad. If I meet a guy named Chad, I'm just like, oh, well, we're not going to be French.

00:46:46 - 00:47:04 | Speaker 1:

That's a good point. There's a lot of douchebag Chads in this world. You should have raised suspicions right away. Never trusted Chad. That's words of wisdom there. Thank you. uh uh samson what's up hey what's up mojo what's going on pretty bold to cheat with a

00:47:04 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 4:

you know a sister right yeah definitely definitely um i just want to know if she had the past uh you know the sister had a past and going after her exes why was she okay with him staying there

00:47:17 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 1:

in the first place you know that's a that's a you know something that we probably should have followed up but she seemed so emotional i didn't want to say that to her but yeah i mean you don't You don't, you know, put this right into his, into her hands, but eventually can you ever trust somebody like that? You know, for sure, for sure.

00:47:35 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 4:

And also, you know, he, she was dating her ex. I don't know if it was, if they were kids or high school or whatever, but I guess at one point she, he, what he did belong to the sister.

00:47:45 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. They dated at one point, but that was before marriage. So, um, what's up Tanya? It's Mojo in the morning. War of the Roses comments here.

00:47:54 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, Mojo. my comment is, um, shame on her sister. Absolutely. He's guilty, but as her sister, that's a line that she should, she should not cross. That's like a trust barrier. That's now

00:48:05 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 1:

been broken between them. Like that's, I feel so bad for Leah. I, I don't know how you do that.

00:48:14 - 00:48:19 | Speaker 2:

You know, I don't either. And I have a sister and I would never, I would never hurt her like that.

00:48:19 - 00:49:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's off limits. 616 says, and by the way, 844-MOJO-LIVE is our telephone number, or we'll call you if you text. 616 says, can't talk right now, but I dated a girl, and I cheated on her with her older sister. I still regret it to this day. Another caller or texter here, 734 says, they don't trust their brother with their wife because their brother is one that has bad choices in life, according to them. 586 says, OMG, so sorry for Leah with the praying hands emoji right after that. Another one here says, I agree with your caller that says, don't ever trust a Chad. I've been screwed over by a boyfriend that's name was Chad. Never will date a guy ever again like that. And then this is an interesting one. And this is actually somebody that has a really good point. 630 says, never date or marry someone that your sibling had had intimate relationships with. That is actually kind of an interesting thought because there are, I'm sure, people that have had successful relationships, right? That they dated somebody that their sibling, you know, at one point dated.

00:49:42 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 6:

If there is, I'd like to hear from them.

00:49:44 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 1:

I just.

00:49:45 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 6:

Because I don't even know how you get into a relationship.

00:49:47 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 1:

It would be weird, wouldn't it? Yeah. Tony, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:49:51 - 00:49:57 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Mojo? I was just thinking, she said that they dated before. The sister dated him before.

00:49:57 - 00:49:58 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah.

00:49:59 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 4:

I wonder...

00:50:00 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 2:

I wonder if she probably never wanted her sister to marry him or maybe be with him.

00:50:05 - 00:50:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:50:05 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 2:

She maybe never, ever got over that.

00:50:08 - 00:50:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, you know, but I guess it was so long ago. When we were, you know, doing a little research on this one, it was such a while ago. But, yeah, you know, like Spike and I were just having this discussion right now. I don't know if I could. I couldn't date somebody that I knew my brother was all up in.

00:50:26 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 2:

And sometimes, sometimes the time doesn't matter.

00:50:31 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yep. You know? Thank you, Tony. All right. Mojo on the Morning Show. Amanda, hello.

00:50:39 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how are you?

00:50:40 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 1:

Good. What's going on?

00:50:42 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 4:

Not much. Driving to work, but I actually just have the same thought that the last caller had. Like, they dated before, and so the sister married him, and now she's jealous that she never got him and that she didn't marry him and it's just trying to get back with her i just feel like it was like for to get back with him i just feel like it was like a revenge thing even though

00:51:02 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 1:

it was so long ago yeah i mean it could be this could be it could also be not just revenge for marrying him sometimes siblings have these rivalries throughout life where they feel like the one sibling got everything you know from the parent or whatever and it's kind of their way of psychologically, you know, getting back at them, you know?

00:51:23 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 4:

She said that she had tried to mess with somebody else before, her husband or boyfriend before, and that's why she's not divorced. So I just feel like she doesn't care. She doesn't know, like she does not care about how the sister feels about anything, and it will go after anybody. And this guy, she actually dated before, so she was like, I'm going to get him back.

00:51:43 - 00:51:45 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Gina, what happened?

00:51:46 - 00:51:59 | Speaker 3:

So my sister was working with a guy that was younger than her, and she liked him, so she ended up fixing him up with her sister, me. And so I dated him several times. He just really wasn't my type, but, you know, I knew he was a good guy, and eventually they got married.

00:52:00 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. Was it weird? Was it weird, though, that you were set up with him, and then all of a sudden now they're married to each other?

00:52:07 - 00:52:18 | Speaker 3:

Well, obviously she liked him, but he was too young at the time, and as they got older, they became, you know, a better match. But the thing is, obviously, I see him all the time, and I love him for being my sister's husband. So he's a great guy.

00:52:18 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 1:

So there's never any weird stuff going on with you and him in, like, a back closet or something.

00:52:25 - 00:52:26 | Speaker 5:

No, no, but he flirts with me.

00:52:26 - 00:52:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh. It's like a joke. We won't talk about that. All right. Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:52:35 - 00:52:39 | Speaker 5:

So my dad is now dating and living with my aunt.

00:52:40 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

00:52:40 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 5:

With my mom's sister.

00:52:41 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 1:

Wait, did something happen while they were married, while your mom and dad were married?

00:52:45 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 5:

Not while they were married. They were both separated at the time, and my dad and my aunt started hanging out, and then they ended up happy in a relationship. So family holidays are fun.

00:52:56 - 00:52:59 | Speaker 1:

How did that go over with your mom?

00:53:01 - 00:53:08 | Speaker 5:

It was a little weird at first, but now everything's fine. We still all do Christmas together and holidays.

00:53:09 - 00:53:09 | Speaker 1:

Nice.

00:53:09 - 00:53:14 | Speaker 5:

But it is weird because I'm not sure what to call her. Oh, I never even thought of that.

00:53:15 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Oh, my gosh.

00:53:17 - 00:53:24 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to ask this question, and I shouldn't even ask this. But do you think anything ever happened when Dad and Mom were married?

00:53:26 - 00:53:29 | Speaker 5:

No, not when they were married. My aunt wasn't around very often.

00:53:30 - 00:53:33 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right, good. All right. Well, thank you for the call, Sarah.

00:53:34 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 5:

Have a good one.

00:53:35 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 1:

All right. Somebody just texted in and said that their brother married their ex. Is that you, CJ? Did we get you on the phone? Yeah, what's going on, Mojo? So what's the story?

00:53:48 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 2:

What is it? I was going out with this girl for a while, and then she ended up going with my brother mid-party, and then they actually ended up getting married, but everybody's cool with it now.

00:53:58 - 00:54:02 | Speaker 1:

Did you and her ever, were you ever intimate with her? Were you guys ever?

00:54:02 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.

00:54:04 - 00:54:08 | Speaker 1:

So is it wild? Like, do you ever, like, throw jabs at your brother that you guys were together?

00:54:09 - 00:54:15 | Speaker 2:

No. It's all cool, copacetic. They've been married for seven years now.

00:54:15 - 00:54:19 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that she looks at you, though, and says you're the better lover?

00:54:20 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 2:

No. Everything's all, like, plutonic and all the good stuff.

00:54:25 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 1:

Is it because you're not the better lover, or who's the better lover between the two of you guys?

00:54:30 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 2:

I would say I am. If you ask my current wife right now, I would say I am.

00:54:33 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 1:

All right. Okay, I just want to make sure. Let's ask her. What's her number?

00:54:39 - 00:54:48 | Speaker 2:

Not your current wife. Hey, Spike, Spike, you're my favorite. Thanks. By the way, I hope you're everybody's favorite.

00:54:48 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Wouldn't it be weird if we called up his wife and said, hey, who's the better lover? And she had an answer. Yeah. That would not be good.

00:54:57 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, that'd be funny to me. No, you know, it'd be worse.

00:55:00 - 00:55:05 | Speaker 3:

CJ would be worse if she didn't have an answer If she had to think about it Oh yeah

00:55:05 - 00:55:06 | Speaker 4:

Take care of yourself buddy

00:55:06 - 00:55:08 | Speaker 3:

You as well

00:55:08 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 4:

Alright bye Remember these songs See how well you do in the throwback throwdown It's tomorrow after 8 On Mojo in the Morning

00:55:22 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning Spike there's something that your daughters like to do That you don't like to do and you're thinking that maybe it's just like a generational thing i think so i think uh it's

00:55:35 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 3:

got to be because i will not watch tv with subtitles but i notice everyone uses them now my daughters won't watch tv without the subtitles on now if i wanted to read i'd get the book i'm

00:55:47 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 5:

watching a movie now it's not necessarily just a movie with subtitles it's they'll put keep the

00:55:52 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 3:

subtitles on their uh so some of the tv or some of the streaming services like hulu and i noticed it with youtube tv that i have sometimes they come on automatically and you got to turn them off yeah i don't know if it's because of tiktok and how they have text text captions when you you know when people are talking but i can't look at margot robbie if i'm reading dialogue at the bottom of the screen it's distracting so and here's the the part that kills me the most and you tell me if uh if i'm i'm wrong in saying it's just a generational thing because they're not even reading it they're looking at their phone while we watch the movie i was gonna say so i've banned subtitles in our house because i yeah because they're not even looking at it and it's distracting me it's taken away from the picture the cinematographer spent great efforts to make sure this movie looks good And now we're just slapping words across it.

00:56:47 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 5:

I honestly won't watch a movie with subtitles because I can't read. But I will tell you that I don't think I watch a full TV show or movie. I'm like your daughters in the fact that I am constantly looking at my phone. And then I'll go, uh-uh, rewind that, Chels, real quick. She's like, get out of the room right now.

00:57:07 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

00:57:07 - 00:57:10 | Speaker 5:

I wait for a good moment to come up in it.

00:57:10 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, unless it's a foreign language film. We do not need subtitles. They are saying the words. Let's pay attention to the movie.

00:57:17 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:57:18 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 1:

I will not watch anything, television or movies, without subtitles. Why? Will not do it. Well, first is I'm very slightly hard of hearing. Very slightly. But as a, like, movie and television nerd, the way that they sound mix nowadays, it's really bad. and their sfx volumes and just any background noise is way too loud for modern dialogue

00:57:47 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 3:

that's because you never went in and adjusted your speakers no i'm good megan on this the tv it drives me crazy now they try to do all the simulated stereo and a simulated surround and everything and they don't but it depends on the room you're in you got to fix that tv you got to

00:58:01 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 1:

do the adjustment plenty of episodes that are way too dark and we've got episodes that are way too

00:58:05 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 5:

That's what The Handmaid's Tale does this all the time. Yes. On Hulu, The Handmaid's Tale, all of a sudden, there's like, I'm like, I can't understand what June is saying. And then, like, out of the blue, it gets really loud, like an action scene. I agree.

00:58:19 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 3:

So I was about to say that my girlfriend is on my daughter's side because she keeps the volume down on The Bachelorette and uses subtitles so her son doesn't hear them making out. But then she just texted me because she's listening, and she said, I need subtitles because you talk over everything they're saying. That's true.

00:58:33 - 00:58:39 | Speaker 1:

Or my snacks are too loud Like, no No, I'm gonna read along

00:58:39 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 3:

I think my snacks are too loud

00:58:41 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so this just happened to me So I, in fact, this reminds me I gotta finish it tonight I was watching The Good Nurse on Netflix movie If you haven't seen it yet, holy cow You have to watch it Is anyone else like me where I don't even know for what reason Like sometimes the subtitles are just on Like I don't turn them on But I'm like, I don't even feel like fiddling with them I don't figure out how to turn them off So they just stay on the whole movie

00:59:02 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes the subtitles ruin a scene because the words are either too slagging or they come up before they say it sometimes, and, like, the timing's off. You're watching the movie for the suspense, and the timing of the dialogue comes with what's happening in the scene, but the closed captioning isn't always timed out right.

00:59:20 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 5:

My favorite is 586 that says, this might be one of the only times I agree with Spike. See? What's going on, Carissa?

00:59:29 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Good morning. So I am an avid subtitle user. I need the subtitles. I have ADHD, and it's impossible for me to watch TV or a movie without the subtitles because it just goes in one ear and out the other. Or I do what Mojo does, and I just get distracted with my phone or whatever else is near me. But, yeah.

00:59:56 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 3:

If you have ADHD, now you're demanding attention.

01:00:00 - 01:00:04 | Speaker 2:

from two different things because you're trying to watch the action on the screen and read the subtitles.

01:00:04 - 01:00:08 | Speaker 5:

But it's so much easier to pay attention to three things than it is to one for some reason.

01:00:08 - 01:00:24 | Speaker 4:

Yes. With ADHD, it's like you have to kind of almost do more than one thing at once with your brain. And so reading it and listening to it is what helps me comprehend it. Otherwise, my brain is trying to do something else while also listening.

01:00:24 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 2:

Why do we hire actors? Why don't we just put a slideshow up there of Pretty Seery?

01:00:30 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 3:

It's just called reading. I don't know if you know that they sell books. That's great.

01:00:33 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 2:

And that's what I don't want to do. That's why I'm watching the movie and not reading the book.

01:00:36 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 3:

But also when you're zooted, I don't know what it is, but it's so much harder to listen to somebody, but I can read what you're saying and I'm still entertained.

01:00:44 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 1:

I actually read it in my own language, too.

01:00:48 - 01:00:56 | Speaker 3:

Coming up, a call that somebody should have sent to voicemail. Spikes phone scan. It's this morning at 7.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:00:57 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 1:

Win Taylor Swift tickets right now. It's Taylor Swiftmas. Text the word SWIFT, S-W-I-F-T, to 95500, and you could be going to the concert at Ford Field. As a parent, this is a really, really tough one.

01:01:33 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, absolutely.

01:01:34 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 1:

So we received a bunch of letters about this beautiful family and about this young man who his life was taken too soon. Imagine being parents of a 12-year-old and losing your 12-year-old son.

01:01:50 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you say young man. I mean, he was a child.

01:01:55 - 01:02:15 | Speaker 1:

And this morning's Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish is just going to try to bring a little bit of hope back to this family's life, knowing how much of a struggle that this has to be for them. The letter writers are there with you, right, Mike? Yes, Kim is standing right next to me. Perfect. Yeah, and Jason there, too. Hey, Jason, what's happening? How are you? Hi, guys.

01:02:15 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 5:

We have, right now, you guys, we have a, I want to say, an offense and a defense for NFL teams right now. We have a crowd, an absolute crowd in the street right now.

01:02:27 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 1:

And this is all these people who have come together for this family knowing how much, you know, this has got to be like the most unreal time going on for them. To lose somebody as young as 12 years old, but to lose them just before Christmas has got to be just brutal. So, Kim, get the letter ready. We're going to be doing that here in a second, and KP is going to dial up right now, and we're going to be making a phone call here, so let's do it. It's Mojo in the Morning, breaking and entering, Christmas wish.

01:03:18 - 01:03:20 | Speaker 4:

Hello, you have reached the voice.

01:03:20 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man, oh, man, oh, man, oh, man. Okay, we're going to dial it. We'll have to dial it back.

01:03:24 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 5:

She said also to try Tyler if you can.

01:03:26 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 1:

Okay. KP, dial up dad Tyler's number. Let's see if there's any difference in that. Mom is still.

01:03:43 - 01:03:44 | Unknown:

All right.

01:03:45 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 2:

This might be.

01:03:48 - 01:03:49 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:03:50 - 01:04:21 | Speaker 1:

hello hey tyler it's mojo in the morning calling you i apologize for waking you guys up oh that's okay i was up oh man we tried uh to call carla's phone just before this but kept getting voicemail are you with carla right now um i am yeah is there a way to put it on speakerphone so we can say hi? Sure, of course. Okay.

01:04:23 - 01:04:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo in the Morning is on the phone right now? Okay. She's here.

01:04:34 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Carla and Tyler, it's Mojo and Spike, Shannon, everybody here from the Mojo in the Morning show.

01:04:41 - 01:04:41 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

01:04:41 - 01:05:01 | Speaker 1:

How are you guys? We're sorry to call you so early, but we do a thing called Breaking and Entering Christmas wish and we receive letters every single year about special families in our listening area and we receive countless amount of letters about you guys Oh, my gosh.

01:05:02 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 4:

And one of those letters we picked up because I started recognizing some of the names that were in this letter. And I want to have you just listen to them. They're going to read it to you, okay?

01:05:14 - 01:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Dear Mojo in the morning, my name is Kim Cheetah. On behalf of myself and Jason Gendro, we would like to nominate the DeBoard family for breaking and entering Christmas wish. This family suffered the loss of their oldest son, Anthony. He was just 12 years old. He was sick for over a week with what they now know was parainfluenza 1, which is a strand of the flu. He went to urgent care for shortness of breath. He was treated with a nebulizer, inhaler, and steroids. Shortly after returning home, he suffered an acute and catastrophic asthmatic attack, likely flared by this flu virus. Anthony collapsed and was immediately given CPR by his father. He went into respiratory arrest, then cardiac arrest. Anthony was put on life support for days to come. His mom and dad, Carla and Tyler, faced unimaginable decisions, decisions no parent should have to make. Anthony was called home on November 4th of this year. His organs were donated to Gift of Life. Anthony truly saved other children's lives. His family's purpose now is to give back to the community and the world that has so graciously walked with them. Thank you for considering such a wonderful family during such a horrible time for them. Oh, and by the way, Mojo, Anthony's favorite holiday was Christmas, so this would be so fitting. Sincerely, Kim Jita.

01:07:12 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 4:

Guys, we're so sorry for your loss.

01:07:15 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

01:07:16 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much. Thank you. Yeah.

01:07:19 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 2:

What a horrific tragedy, but what a beautiful thing came of it that you know that your little voice saved so many other people's lives, right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

01:07:34 - 01:07:35 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:07:37 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 4:

Tyler and Carla, can you tell our listeners and all of us about Anthony? Tell us what kind of a young man was this unbelievably beautiful boy?

01:07:49 - 01:08:29 | Speaker 3:

yeah he um i mean you know for 12 years old he just lived such a fulfilled life and he was you know he went every day to the fullest and um just you know i have a kid special but i mean he was he was like really really special to us and He meant the world to us, and he loved baseball, he loved sports, he loved school. Like, he just lived every day to the fullest, and we just, you know, we miss him terribly, obviously.

01:08:29 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I'm going to tell you, he touched so many lives because we know this with all the letters that were sent to us and just the different people that were sending him, even kids his own age that were writing letters. Wanting to grant a wish for you guys. I mean, it's hard enough getting a 12-year-old to do their homework, let alone write to a radio station. You know what I mean?

01:08:52 - 01:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, he just had such an impact on so many people. Just a 12-year-old, you know, he just, he was just so, I don't know.

01:09:11 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I had, I don't, yeah, he just, um, I don't know, we call them our angel on this earth and, um, just the way he's brought so many people together in this, I don't know, in this tragedy. It's like, um, that's just what his purpose in life was. He was always bringing people together and looking out for others.

01:09:33 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Well, he's bringing people together this morning because we have a ton of people that are outside of your home at this very moment.

01:09:43 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, whether you want them to be or not, they're there.

01:09:46 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 4:

That's why we call this Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. And if you do us a favor and walk towards your door, you're going to recognize some of the faces, some of the faces you may not.

01:10:00 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 1:

the faces you don't are members from our radio program. You'll see Mike who's there and we've got Kim and Jason and a whole slew of people that Anthony touched their lives that they want to touch you guys back with the Christmas wish this morning.

01:10:25 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, thank you so much. It's amazing. Thank you.

01:10:30 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Mike, are you standing out in front?

01:10:33 - 01:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're right here. Merry Christmas! Hello! I don't know if you noticed, your front yard is full of people that love and care for you, that have written letters, whose life was touched by Anthony. and I couldn't imagine. I can only imagine. I know. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. We have a porch full of things. Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much. Thank you. It's been too much. Thank you.

01:11:18 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 1:

Carla and Tyler, we want to make sure that you guys don't have to worry about Christmas this year. In memory of Anthony, we want to make sure that his memory is carried on on his favorite holiday and we want to make sure that we take care of you and also take care of his sister and his brother and and provide everything that you guys would need for Christmas do you see all that stuff out there

01:11:48 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 2:

are they starting to bring it in yeah yeah We got so much stuff Would you be alright if we brought all these presents in? Of course Alright

01:12:02 - 01:12:07 | Speaker 1:

Alright everybody get some work going While we tell you everything that we got for you guys

01:12:07 - 01:12:20 | Speaker 2:

Now are Anthony's Twin siblings there? Are Taylor and Gabriel still home? They're quick right now Oh okay So this is going to be a great surprise We have so many toys for them

01:12:20 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 1:

we we know the the being an eight-year-old yes and all the things that are cool to buy for eight-year-olds

01:12:29 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 2:

01:12:36 - 01:13:24 | Speaker 1:

understand that baseball is still a love and a passion for your entire family so we made sure that that was a passion that everybody was going to get to enjoy so we provided a whole bunch of really cool baseball stuff and we also provided some really cool experience stuff for you guys we knew that tyler was such a uh or anthony was such a uh a fan of uh the tigers that we reached out and we ended up getting tickets so that you guys could go and see the Tigers play against the Boston Red Sox on April the 8th with a special message on the scoreboard in memory of Anthony for the DeBoard family.

01:13:27 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 2:

That'll be a great day. And we took care of everything, parking, food, ticket. So you are totally covered there.

01:13:34 - 01:13:41 | Speaker 1:

Anthony's name is going to be in on that scoreboard because we knew that that one dream of his was that he wanted to play for the Tigers one day.

01:13:42 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

We're like, oh, my God. Hi, this is Taylor. Good morning, Taylor. Look at all your friends and family here. We're here to grant you a Christmas. How does that sound? Thank you. Yes, yes. What is the other thing? Aw. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. I cannot thank you guys enough. I'm, like, in shock right now. I don't know. We love y'all.

01:14:22 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 1:

Carly, you're a teacher. We're getting messages right now sent to us on text messages from listeners that are saying that they want to tell you that they love you. They love Mrs. DeBoard.

01:14:33 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

We got you, in addition to all sorts of stuff for yourself, all sorts of stuff for your classroom, so you're taken care of there. Tyler, we understand that you needed a new laptop, so Xfinity is giving you a new laptop. We also wanted to make sure that grocery shopping is not on your mind right now, so thanks to Kroger, they sent hundreds of dollars of gift cards with Mike and our elves.

01:15:00 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 5:

We also understood that you needed a new refrigerator. So we're writing you a big old check so that you can go out and get a new refrigerator and you don't have to worry about that. Yeah. That's not a fun thing to have to buy with your own money. So we're taking care of that one.

01:15:15 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 2:

No. No. Yeah, I mean, thank you to everyone. Thank you.

01:15:23 - 01:15:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this is so unbelievable. And we've been so touched. But it's like the way this just continues. I don't know. There's no words. We're just so grateful. We couldn't get through this without you guys.

01:15:40 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 2:

Can I give you a hug? Come here. Come here.

01:15:44 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 6:

We want everybody to keep the DeBoard family in their prayers as we remember you guys this Christmas. And we want you to know that we feel Anthony's presence right now. And we just want to say to you guys, thank you for letting us into your home.

01:15:58 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 2:

thank you thank you for everything

01:16:03 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 5:

your friend Kim wrote in her letter that you were so thankful for the community that has so graciously walked through this with you and I just want you to know your community is not a whole lot bigger this morning

01:16:15 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 2:

yeah I mean everyone I mean we can't express our gratitude and like we said Anthony always brought people closer together and he's going to continue to do that for a long time.

01:16:31 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. He's going to live on in all of us.

01:16:36 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 2:

We already see it, and we're just so grateful.

01:16:41 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 6:

Merry Christmas.

01:16:43 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Thank you so much.

01:16:44 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the Morning Show. You're getting two phone scams for the price of one, one, one, one. We're going to go out phone scam both managers of a store in the mall. The store just got a new district manager, and it's perfect timing for a phone scam because the managers haven't met their new boss yet. Ta-da, it's me. Spike is going to be that new boss, calling up and pretending with them that there's some new rules that are going to be in play for the holidays. He's going to tell them that they have to wear an elf costume this holiday season in the store.

01:17:18 - 01:17:29 | Speaker 4:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the morning.

01:17:34 - 01:17:36 | Speaker 3:

Hello. How can I help you?

01:17:36 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Jessica. This is Oliver from Corporate. How are you?

01:17:40 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 3:

I'm great. How are you doing, Oliver?

01:17:41 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 1:

Is Scott here as well? Is he on the call?

01:17:44 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 3:

Let me grab him for you. Scott, can you pick up line two?

01:17:48 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 1:

Hello. Hi, Scott. Hi, Jessica. This is Oliver. Nice to finally meet you guys.

01:17:53 - 01:17:55 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, wonderful to meet you.

01:17:55 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 1:

Looking forward to a market visit really soon so I can get to know everyone, but just want to fill you guys in on the new holiday promotion because it may take some staffing adjustment, and I want to get you guys lead time to inform the staff and make sure there's no issues with covering each shift. Which one of you guys wants to take the lead on the task of tracking down costumes?

01:18:13 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 3:

I'd be happy to do that.

01:18:14 - 01:18:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And how many associates do you have? We have seven. All right, take some notes. Here's what we're going to do. Basically, the promotion is called the Elf on the Shelf. Are you guys familiar with the concept of Elf on the Shelf?

01:18:27 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 3:

No, not.

01:18:29 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 1:

An elf comes to visit from the North Pole, and they keep watch over the kids. They sit in different places around the house every day and report back to Santa whether or not they're being good. Basically, employees will take shifts sitting perfectly still on the counter, posing as an elf on the shelf. So we're going to have our staff being the elf on the shelf, and it's going to get lots of talk. We're hoping with social media this will go viral, and the end result, hopefully, will be that foot traffic will increase because people want to come in and see our live elf on a shelf. You understand?

01:19:03 - 01:19:08 | Speaker 3:

So you want the actual employees at the store to sit on the shelf?

01:19:09 - 01:19:14 | Speaker 1:

Just one at each time. The other people, obviously, will be ringing up customers and working on the floor.

01:19:15 - 01:19:34 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I would love to make a suggestion. I think that's great. I just wonder if maybe we could hire a temp, you know, maybe like a high school kid or something, only because, you know, we do have, like, Louise, who, you know, she's 56 years old, and I don't know that, you know, she'd be comfortable to sit on the shelf.

01:19:35 - 01:19:36 | Speaker 1:

She's too old to sit?

01:19:37 - 01:19:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, for a long duration of time.

01:19:40 - 01:19:53 | Speaker 1:

I mean, anyone can wear candy cane tights and sit on their ass for six hours, right? I want our staff into the spirit of the promotion, and I think they'll like it because they don't have to restock or they don't even have to talk to customers. They're supposed to sit perfectly still and not move.

01:19:54 - 01:20:00 | Speaker 3:

One more question. Should we make Jill do it?

01:20:00 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 4:

Jewish, you know, and you know, I'm just not sure we can really make her

01:20:06 - 01:20:26 | Speaker 1:

do that. Oh, Lord. The elf isn't a religious character. I mean, it's elf on a shelf. All right, grab a pen. I want you guys to write down these elf names. Everybody needs to change their store name tag and have an elf name on it. So just write down the first elf will be Twinkle Floppy Feet, and the next one is Glitzy McJingles.

01:20:27 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Sorry, I'm still writing Twinkle

01:20:28 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 1:

floppy feet one second glitzy mcjingles yep and number three is squeezy festive fingers number four is perky pickle pants and you understand the reason they have the employees have to choose from one of these names just because we had they had to be cleared for trademark clearance make sure nobody's using them we don't you know get sued by anybody the next one's cookie glitter balls and then the last one senior stampy ding dong any other questions

01:20:58 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 4:

so far will we be selling the elf on the shelf toy and book uh no and you guys are gonna need

01:21:06 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

costumes too by the way jessica you will be dressing like elsa or anna you know the princess is from frozen and then scott you will either be a snowman or a reindeer your choice no man or a

01:21:19 - 01:21:24 | Speaker 4:

reindeer actually i wouldn't mind being santa you're not allowed to be santa too much pushback

01:21:24 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 1:

from mall management obviously they got their own thing going on so are all of us going to be in

01:21:28 - 01:21:41 | Speaker 4:

costume all the time or guys what why do you hate christmas i mean i'm i'm the manager and i just really want the customers and my own staff to take me seriously and stop with the grinch and get on

01:21:41 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 1:

board guys or else i'm going to have to inform you that you've just been the victim of a mojo on the morning phone scam?

01:21:48 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You're kidding me. I don't get it.

01:21:55 - 01:21:58 | Speaker 1:

Your entire staff just set you guys up.

01:21:58 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 4:

That was the worst idea ever.

01:22:03 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 5:

We will, we will scam you. We interrupt this message to tell you that was funny. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams.

01:22:13 - 01:22:17 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:22:18 - 01:22:19 | Unknown:

What's up?

01:22:21 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 2:

Make some noise. For Mojo, Mike Shannon.

01:22:27 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 5:

For Mojo in the Morning.

01:22:43 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 2:

all right mojo in the morning show uh couple oh all right megan since i got your attention i'm gonna i'm gonna what did you say at least because sometimes sometimes megan's you know snoring in the corner of the studio but usually when we talk about our kids for some reason she cares nothing about our children if we're talking about it so megan has a friend who has the weirdest kink ever and she found out about it in passing with him talking about a new girl that he

01:23:29 - 01:24:29 | Speaker 3:

was just with yeah so he was uh getting down and dirty with a new lady in his life we love to hear it and um I was like oh was it was it good and he was like it is the best that I've ever had and I said oh do tell and he was getting into it he said I had never felt like I was better in bed and I said were you trying something new was she into something you had you know never done before like what happened and he was like oh this had never happened before I was like give me the deets give me the deets he had hooked up with a girl who had asthma and she had an asthma attack in the middle of her session and he said he had never felt more accomplished than literally knocking the wind out of something he was like from here on out i want a girl with an inhaler but the inhaler has to be across the room because if she's getting out of the bed and walking across and she can't breathe I did my job When did this happen?

01:24:29 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 5:

As a fellow asthmatic I'm asking this question for a reason What time of year? Like recently? Yeah, recently Yeah, you know Because you have flare-ups throughout the year This is one of those times So it's like half him Half seasonal

01:24:42 - 01:24:48 | Speaker 2:

Don't tell him though Don't tell him Let him think Has that ever happened to you?

01:24:48 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 5:

I felt like I'm more of a man

01:24:49 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 2:

Has that ever happened to you, Shannon? In the middle of sex?

01:24:51 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 5:

Many times, honest to God, many times

01:24:52 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:24:52 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 1:

And you get the inhaler out? Yeah And then you continue?

01:24:55 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 5:

And quite honestly it's super embarrassing because you sound like that.

01:25:00 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 1:

And you, like, can't breathe And you have to stop

01:25:04 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 4:

I would be worried I'm going to kill you

01:25:06 - 01:25:07 | Speaker 1:

Right No, I'm good

01:25:07 - 01:25:19 | Speaker 4:

No, but, like, for this guy and stuff, too Like, he's, like, so excited about this whole thing What happens if she goes into an asthma attack moment That you can't revive her from?

01:25:19 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

I mean, if she gets a blue ring around her lips It's, you rush her to the hospital Pardon me? No, that really happens From lack of air Wow

01:25:26 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 2:

Thankfully, she was able to communicate And, like, at the beginning was like I'm having an asthma attack so it wasn't like he was completely caught off guard they weren't mid-session she just passed out on the bed I think that would be a little bit scarier the good thing

01:25:38 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 4:

is once you take that inhaler a couple puffs you're good there I I think only I I'm I may be over exaggerating this I think only maybe twice in my entire relationship with Chelsea has she ever done the roll over on the bed and go like that

01:25:56 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 1:

maybe once

01:25:58 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 4:

but she's only when she has done that it makes me feel like I'm a freaking stallion you know what I mean because I do it every time do you think this girl has to at some point again pretend that she's having an asthma attack now oh my god you'll never be able to have sex with her ever again

01:26:19 - 01:26:20 | Speaker 1:

She set the bar real high.

01:26:20 - 01:26:27 | Speaker 4:

If she doesn't have an asthma attack ever again, you're thinking, oh, my God, I was horrible. Yeah. That poor guy.

01:26:27 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, he kind of set the bar really high at the beginning, right?

01:26:29 - 01:26:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, exactly. What's up, Michelle? How you doing?

01:26:32 - 01:26:34 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. How are you guys?

01:26:34 - 01:26:35 | Speaker 4:

We're good.

01:26:36 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 2:

Not as good as this guy.

01:26:37 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 4:

What say you?

01:26:39 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 3:

So this is so embarrassing. think but if i have a really really good big o like really good one it sometimes causes a seizure oh my gosh my husband knows just to stuff my mouth full of medicine oh my god oh my lord

01:27:00 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 1:

it sounds dangerous have you ever been put in the hospital oh yeah so like from from baking cookies and doing it and having a seizure um yeah oh my god like is your seizure you're you

01:27:13 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 4:

you say that he has to stick is it like one of those ones where they have to like you're you you'll uh you'll like bite your tongue or something or what's the story no um what happens

01:27:23 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 3:

is my calcium drops when i have the big o and it causes um my body can't rebound so he has to That's my mouth full of Tums.

01:27:35 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh, full of Tums. Tums, she said.

01:27:39 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't wait to ruin the big O, though, just a mouth full of Tums. Can't you just, like, load up on a big milkshake before? You need some calcium?

01:27:46 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 4:

Question, does he get a high five afterwards if that happens?

01:27:49 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I've high-fived him after.

01:27:54 - 01:28:13 | Speaker 4:

That's amazing. Be careful. All we've got to do is shake the bottle now. Karen, listen to this one. In the middle of having, you know, naughty time baking cookies, what happened to you? Karen?

01:28:13 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I want to hear her story.

01:28:14 - 01:28:29 | Speaker 4:

She's there. I can hear her somewhere. Karen? Oh, my God. You're going to... I'm staying with her because maybe she's having it right now. Karen. Karen. Whoever's on our phone line, say hello. Maybe your name's not Karen.

01:28:30 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 1:

Erin? maryn sharon lauren lauren hello maryn karen here see if they're there kpa answer that

01:28:41 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 4:

line back because i want her to tell that story that's a wild story here we are talking about

01:28:46 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 1:

this about megan's guy friend change the name because it is hard to hear sometimes i think

01:28:51 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 4:

you know what it is she's on a bluetooth and those those freaking bluetooths you can't sometimes here. Oh, we got disconnected from her. Okay. She ended up having a medical issue. I've never heard of this ever happening to somebody. She had a gallbladder attack having a big O. Wow.

01:29:12 - 01:29:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. What is that? Her gallbladder? But, like, what happened?

01:29:16 - 01:29:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, I think it's big stomach pains, right? Isn't it?

01:29:18 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 1:

Did she doody?

01:29:20 - 01:29:21 | Speaker 2:

Did she drop a grumpy?

01:29:21 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 4:

i don't know what's wrong i don't i don't necessarily know if that's exactly what happens when when you're i thought that some human being had actually dropped a

01:29:38 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 1:

grumpy as she's frantically trying to call us back so we don't spread that

01:29:45 - 01:29:58 | Speaker 4:

a lot of asthmatics calling us up saying that this happens to them very real thing that this happens to them a lot hello mojo in the morning hi

01:30:00 - 01:30:03 | Speaker 5:

Um, the, like what happened during a sexual moment?

01:30:03 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes. What happened?

01:30:05 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 5:

Um, so for me, um, I had just been with this guy for like not even a month and, um, I had a, you know, very actually rupture.

01:30:14 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh my goodness.

01:30:15 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 5:

Like I was dealing with a lot of pain. Um, and I was like, Oh no, it's nothing. It's nothing. But then I just laid in bed and, um, like 10 more minutes went by and we ended up going to the hospital. So he'd only known me for like a month and stayed there at like 2 in the morning with me.

01:30:32 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 3:

I've heard that a lot of times that people will find out that they have an ovarian cyst from intercourse. So were you making any kind of like, I mean, it had to be very painful when that happened. Did he think it was him that was the reason why?

01:30:49 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 5:

No, well, I actually don't know. So like I had these nipple clamps on at the time. Oh, of course, yeah.

01:30:54 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 7:

That'll do it.

01:30:56 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 5:

Read the doc.

01:30:57 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 3:

So you went to the hospital With your nipple clamps on?

01:31:04 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 5:

No, I did not leave them on Then I'd taken them off I'm like, maybe this is not helping the pain So I decided to take them off And I tried to go to sleep and laid there For like another 10 minutes or so And the pain just got worse You know, I often get that kind of stimulation Confused with my ovaries So I get where you got confused

01:31:23 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 3:

That is unbelievable We're glad that you're okay, everything worked out What a story By the way, when she just threw that out there It's all casual I love our listeners

01:31:34 - 01:31:35 | Speaker 1:

When you get to that part

01:31:35 - 01:31:42 | Speaker 3:

Karen, you're back with us You are there, Karen Karen, were you okay? You had a gallbladder attack in the middle of sex?

01:31:43 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah, it's true I thought I had food poisoning He had taken me out to dinner This is when the Michigan-Michigan State game was And we were going to go watch the game Back at the room And anyways, I was like, I think I'm going to be sick. So I excused myself when I got sick and then came back because I'm no quitter. And then I said, oh, no, I think I think I'm going to be sick again. So I went in the bathroom and, yeah, I got sick again. And I came back out and I said to him, OK, let's try this again. Oh, my gosh. This poor man So then I said, I'm sorry, but I really think you're going to have to take me to the hospital I think I'm having a heart attack or something

01:32:30 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 2:

Long story short Karen, wait, long story short Did he get to finish before he went to the hospital?

01:32:36 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 6:

Yes

01:32:36 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 3:

Were you okay, Karen? Were you safe?

01:32:41 - 01:33:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I went to the emergency room And proceeded to continue getting sick I made the poor man call my mother and everything Oh my gosh I'm with your daughter Kelly, I mean Karen Oh my god My mom said You're with my who, your what

01:33:03 - 01:33:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh no I'm so glad we got you on To tell that story because that story is so great Thank you so much for the call

01:33:11 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 1:

No problem, thank you A woman's never been with me and said Wow, you moved my organs

01:33:16 - 01:33:33 | Speaker 3:

um i can't believe also the other people that are calling joe joe you there yeah hi how you doing joe poor joe uh you thought you were really good until you found out what joe so um we'd been

01:33:33 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 4:

together about a year she had a toddler so we were always real quiet in a one-bedroom apartment and then she got pregnant fast with our first one so it was always quiet and quick and quiet and quick right so about a year and a half into it was our first valentine's day together you know being alone and and actually spending some real time without kids around so we really you know really you know yeah baked a lot of cookies yeah and it was the first time we spent a lot of time and it was the first time she'd ever experienced one after another and then And then some multiples, and it hit her so hard so fast. She thought she was having a big heart attack. I ended up having to take her to the hospital because she was having panic attacks because she had never experienced that before. Dude, did you feel like that, man?

01:34:27 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 1:

You should be awarded.

01:34:29 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 4:

Bragger. Bragger. I did. I did at first, and then I felt bad afterwards. You know what I'm saying?

01:34:35 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 3:

Joe, you stallion you.

01:34:38 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, because then after the longest time, then she was, like, hesitant and scared.

01:34:43 - 01:34:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so she didn't want to do it anymore because of that.

01:34:45 - 01:34:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

01:34:47 - 01:34:49 | Speaker 3:

You guys are together still, right?

01:34:49 - 01:34:50 | Speaker 4:

Yes, yes.

01:34:50 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you're a wonderful guy. She's going to love that you called us up to tell us this story. By the way, play her the podcast later tonight while you guys.

01:35:00 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 1:

01:35:26 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 2:

will straddling the line between perfection and just getting by this is mojo in the morning

01:35:32 - 01:36:18 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning home of the phone scams the war of the roses in the dirty end of 30 i um i just read my text messages that uh that i've gotten during the show like so i get text messages during the show from people and when people will send me text messages i sometimes don't get to you right away because i need a break like a commercial break or a song or something to be able to do it ellen you got to listen up for this one this is a good one so i ended up getting a text message from Reese. Okay?

01:36:19 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 3:

Our director of social media. Yes. I heard he's a great guy. This is too good.

01:36:27 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 5:

By the way, are you taping this right now? Are you on camera? I want you on camera for this one. Okay. Unfortunately. Where's Ellen at? Is she there? Ellen? No, Ellen. Ellen, you gotta hear this. This is too damn good. So I got a text message from Reese at 7.24 a.m. this morning. Okay.

01:36:43 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 4:

My heart rate is increasing, by the way.

01:36:46 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 5:

It says, my bad. I had the worst day ever yesterday. All right? That's one bubble. I legit am so over my job. It's unreal.

01:36:56 - 01:36:58 | Speaker 4:

I'm meant to say life. I swear.

01:36:58 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 5:

That's another bubble. I don't see anything wrong with that. The next bubble says, didn't do anything yesterday because it's so effing never ending. That's another bubble. And then, finally, the last bubble is LMAO, meant to send this to my mom.

01:37:23 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 2:

The thing is, mom and Mojo are very similar.

01:37:28 - 01:37:45 | Speaker 3:

Very, very similar. I don't know what's better. Oh, that's the greatest. The first two texts or the last one? I don't know which one's better. So, Reese, you didn't just send one mistaken text. You send four text-a-mojo bitching about your job before you realize it. Best please. That's the greatest. Look at his face.

01:37:45 - 01:37:48 | Speaker 4:

Not even an hour into me being here.

01:37:48 - 01:37:48 | Unknown:

That happened.

01:37:50 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 5:

By the way, were you hoping that I didn't read it, or were you hoping that I— Oh, I knew I was screwed. The second I realized that I knew I was screwed. So you had to go over an hour and a half or two hours of wondering, did I read it or not? Were you wondering, did I read it? I knew you read it. I had a good feeling. By the way, I swear to God, I just read it just when I just said it to you during the break. Yeah, I swear to God, I did not read it earlier.

01:38:14 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 4:

Sitting over here getting real quiet.

01:38:17 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 3:

That's not the first time Reese has done that. In our morning show group chat, once in a while, he'll actually send us a chat, and I'm like, what's he texting about? And then I realize, oh, Reese is high. He means to text his friends. He's in the wrong group chat.

01:38:30 - 01:38:36 | Speaker 1:

By the way, no shame. We've all said that about this job before. We just didn't text it to the boss. That's the only difference, okay?

01:38:37 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 5:

So, Reese, I'd love to know. I'm going to pull a Tony Travato right now as the boss. So, Reese, what's up with the job that makes you say that you're so over?

01:38:47 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 4:

No, I swear I love the job. It was just the weekend, really. The weekend was not so great. Was it the never-ending? You're getting so much thrown at you.

01:38:54 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 5:

Was it the never-ending, where are all the personal stuff, you know, the texts that were coming out, like the social media things from Tony and everything?

01:39:03 - 01:39:10 | Speaker 4:

See, that didn't really bother me because Tony texted me on the side after that saying I did a great job. And that wasn't directed towards me.

01:39:10 - 01:39:12 | Speaker 5:

Wait, that text wasn't meant to you for you.

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I know, right? Another one.

01:39:16 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 3:

But this is what I'm terrified of. Now that I've started dating a Megan and I work with a Megan, like you said, Mojo, eventually. I think I have messaged our Megan on the show before by accident. And I just covered it up well. It was nothing crazy. You got to be careful. Now it's breaking my heart

01:39:35 - 01:39:40 | Speaker 1:

I kind of feel you because It's like oh they wanted to No they didn't want to talk to me

01:39:40 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 5:

Yes I know By the way I was so excited that Reese was One on one texting me Like I felt like so special That you read it the next day I felt so special I was going to save this I would like to know here I'm going to save this by the way I'm going to screenshot this and send it to you Reese So you can post this Can Can't, can't. Can you do me a favor? Can you call us up? And this is what I want to focus on because I know people have this a lot. The mistaken boss text. You sent the text to the boss. What was the text that you sent to the boss? Let's specify just the boss. What was the wrong text that you sent to your boss that you, you know, would like to share with us? because those are, you know, it's embarrassing to send a dick pic to your mom.

01:40:32 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that would have sucked.

01:40:35 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 5:

I really would have sucked. Or to Mojo. But it's even more embarrassing to tell your boss how much you hate the job or how overworked you are.

01:40:46 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 2:

I swear, I love the job. I just want to throw that out there a thousand times.

01:40:49 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 5:

You work very hard. What was your mom going to do, by the way? Yeah. Why were you looking for sympathy from her?

01:40:54 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 1:

My mom's just a good listening ear, you know?

01:40:56 - 01:41:09 | Speaker 5:

Aw, I love her. She's my go-to. When is your mom going to make an appearance on this radio show? I don't know. Honestly, she's not awake, though. So I can see what she's all about. You did? Yeah. To tell her it was a wrong thing? Damn it, Mom, now I hate my job even more.

01:41:09 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 1:

Was she worried for you? Yeah, she didn't respond yet. She's sleeping right now. Oh, okay.

01:41:13 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 5:

All right. I'll let you know, though. Mojo in the morning. T.

01:41:18 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:41:19 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 5:

What did you send your boss by mistake?

01:41:22 - 01:41:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was having the worst day ever. Got in trouble at work Went home Got in trouble with a boyfriend Boss named Andrea Boyfriend named Andre So I think Andrea My boss of Texas said FQB I'm done This is it I can't take this FHI anymore Oh Oh man

01:41:41 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god

01:41:43 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 3:

What happened afterwards? I did the walk of shame And the next day And was like That wasn't for you It was for our drafts And it still comes up To this day Every now and then She's like, oh, you're quitting to get around.

01:41:55 - 01:41:57 | Speaker 2:

But you still got your job. That's good.

01:41:58 - 01:42:00 | Speaker 3:

I can't hear about him. I'm a pretty can't hear.

01:42:02 - 01:42:07 | Speaker 5:

That's funny. Angela, hi. What was the mistaken text that you sent your boss?

01:42:08 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. Okay, so I was applying for a job, and I had required the boss give me a drug test. And she had the same name as, like, my plug. And I text her. I go, so where did we get that fake pee?

01:42:22 - 01:42:56 | Speaker 5:

what did you do right after that when you realized it was the boss did you oh my god oh man uh stefan yes good morning hey we're talking about how uh reese in honor of reese our director of social impact who sent me a text telling me how much he hates his job i love the job i swear i want to know have you ever mistakenly text your boss yes i have recently and multiple

01:42:56 - 01:43:45 | Speaker 2:

times unfortunately um my boss is my dad i've been working with him since i graduated a few years ago and there's days where we don't get along too great you know there's a professional versus fatherly son kind of relationship sure and it was just one of those morning uh mornings where just we were not connecting on any level so i texted my sister i thought saying hey heads up dad's in like a pissed off mood you know he's in one of those moves today and i just threw in like a bunch of you know venti things and uh texted it right to him oh boy and i was late for work that day so what did dad uh do was dad pissed oh yeah uh he just puts well i'll see you soon because that's the worst oh yeah yeah one of those where i just like put my phone down and just was like I'm going to take my time now. I'm in a hurry.

01:43:45 - 01:43:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, why rush in to get fired? What's up, Ian?

01:43:50 - 01:43:51 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on? Good morning.

01:43:51 - 01:43:54 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. This is actually, you were in the military and did this.

01:43:55 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm still in the military. I'm actually an Army recruiter.

01:43:58 - 01:44:00 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man, we salute you for what you do.

01:44:00 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Appreciate it. So about eight years ago, I was in Hawaii, and one of our sergeants, they put out in the group chat, instead of a lot of formations, we use a lot of group chats now. They had put out, like, first sergeant wanted an accountability formation at 1800, which is 6 o'clock, and it was, like, Friday. So one of the privates was like, what's wrong with first sergeant? Does he hate his family or something? And then our sergeant was like, he's in this group chat.

01:44:29 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 5:

And, yes, he does hate his family. By the way, I wonder what the punishment is for something like that. The rest of them, they can fire you. That guy actually can make your life even more miserable. Junior.

01:44:42 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 3:

Hey, can you guys hear me?

01:44:43 - 01:44:47 | Speaker 5:

We can hear you, Junior. We're talking about mistakenly texting the boss.

01:44:48 - 01:44:55 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Well, first of all, I got to state my boss is 26. He was 25 at the time. That's very important.

01:44:55 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 5:

He's a young guy.

01:44:57 - 01:45:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he just recently got married. and he was going around asking all of us for advice. So I don't know how this happened, but me and my wife, we like to role play. So we're sending pictures back and forth while at work. Every time a picture gets sent to me, he gives me the thumbs up. And I'm like, huh, that's all right. I must be doing a good job. So me and my wife are sending pictures back and forth.

01:45:22 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 4:

So wait, so you're texting, you think you're texting your wife a bunch of, like, what, nudes or something?

01:45:28 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 3:

No, just like role-play pictures, you know, like picking our costumes, you know, getting ready for the big thing. Okay, okay, all right. No kids. And, like, I guess, like, I'm copying and pasting from previous, like, from previous thread texts between me and her about, like, which costume she likes, you know, what she want me to be. Am I going to be Elvis Presley? Am I going to be John F. Kennedy? You know, how we doing today? And you're getting the thumbs up back, so you're thinking, yeah, I'm, like, on to something. Yeah, and every time he sees me, he's giving me the thumbs up. Oh, geez. I must be doing a good job. Wait a second.

01:46:00 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 4:

Can I ask a question? You dress up as John F. Kennedy as a role play with your wife?

01:46:07 - 01:46:37 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Hey, sometime with your Marilyn Monroe, yeah. Okay. So we're going back and forth, and he keeps giving me the thumbs up. So after about four hours, I kind of figure, like, wait a minute. This is really weird. Nobody has that many thumbs. So he pulls me to the side. I'm thinking he's about to say, he's like, hey, you and your wife want to hang out? I'm like, sure. Maybe you got a promotion. Oh, my God. Wait a second. Hold on.

01:46:37 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. And did he want to, like, become a third?

01:46:45 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 3:

No, no. He wanted to become like a group. Oh, my goodness.

01:46:49 - 01:46:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. So he and his girl wanted to role play with you and yours.

01:46:56 - 01:46:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

01:46:57 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 4:

What costume was he going to do?

01:46:59 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 3:

That's what's funny. He showed me their costumes from high school. He was like, we still got these. And I'm like, okay, you guys, you're doing a costume? What was it? What was it? It was Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers. Oh, my God.

01:47:16 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 4:

Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Marilyn Monroe, and John F. Kennedy all hanging out together. That's awesome. Jake, I'm going to use you as the last caller here, Jake, because I've got to move on. Jake, we're talking about mistakenly texting the boss. Was this your boss that mistakenly texted you?

01:47:34 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 2:

Yep. I did roofing in college, and his drug dealer's name must have been Jake, too. And he texted me his illegal drugs and pills that he wanted for the weekend. Oh, wow.

01:47:48 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 4:

How embarrassing was that for him when he found out he sent that to one of his employees?

01:47:54 - 01:47:56 | Speaker 2:

All I said was, wrong, Jake. See you Monday.

01:47:57 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 4:

By the way, that wouldn't surprise me if that's next from Reese. If I all of a sudden get his Weed Man. Oh, yeah.

01:48:04 - 01:48:05 | Speaker 1:

Stay tuned.

01:48:06 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 3:

Better to love and lose or stay with a cheater the rest of your life. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 9.05 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:16 - 01:48:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. I love listening to his show every morning.

01:48:19 - 01:48:21 | Speaker 3:

Now, back to Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:22 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo in the Morning. Time now for Taylor Swiftmas. Win tickets to the hardest-to-get ticket. Taylor Swift, coming to Ford Field in June. Text the word HERO right now to 95500. That's HERO, H-E-R-O, to 95500, and you could win Taylor Swift tickets. It's Taylor Swiftmas right here with Mojo in the Morning. You know what's wild about any time you get together around the dinner table for a big holiday, whether it be Thanksgiving or Christmas, always truth comes out. It's like the truth detector. And parents, for some reason, always feel like they have to tell you everything that happened in their lives. And I'm blaming it all on the alcohol. I'm going to say that that's the case. Although, Scott Mick's not a big drinker, though, right? He doesn't drink, right? Megan?

01:49:26 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think so.

01:49:28 - 01:49:32 | Speaker 4:

Not a big drinker, but did you guys have any cocktails at all?

01:49:33 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 1:

We cracked open a bottle of wine.

01:49:36 - 01:49:37 | Speaker 4:

Did you guys do some edibles together, too?

01:49:38 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I was partaking. I had the sweetest conversation with my dad. I asked him if it was okay if I partook in those activities while at his house. And he's like, well, you know, Megan, I don't really want smoke in my kitchen, if I'm being honest. I was like, ah, damn, we got vape pens. It was absolutely fine. So this was, like, I think the first time I was open.

01:50:00 - 01:50:04 | Speaker 3:

Partaking in these activities in front of my dad But he was super chill about it It was cool

01:50:04 - 01:50:09 | Speaker 1:

What was it like getting openly high I'm not saying getting high in front of your dad

01:50:09 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh I had been high in front of my dad a lot I'm pretty sure he knew most of the time But it was one of those like Just don't tell me Just don't tell me I trust you I don't need to know What was it like Well the first time I hit the pen in front of him I felt like a kid again I was like this isn't right This shouldn't be allowed

01:50:29 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 1:

you know what it's like it's it's like sneaking a peek at your christmas presents before christmas that's kind of like that um did dad didn't uh join you that's that's why oh my god i want to

01:50:42 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 3:

smoke with my dad so bad it's not even funny he actively gets drug tested still at work which is to his job y'all are in michigan that's absolute malarkey yeah um does he work with heavy machinery No, he doesn't, but he is a really big rule follower. But I actually feel really bad for him. My dad, very, very young, got really bad arthritis. So my dad's hands are pretty jacked up. And he can't even use, like, CBD oils to help him get movement back in his fingers because he'll possibly fail a drug test. Yeah, that's amazing.

01:51:17 - 01:51:19 | Speaker 2:

Think of that retirement party. We're going to hot box him.

01:51:19 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I have already told my dad that I will get the edibles laid out. We'll do like a taste testing party where I will have everything laid out, ready to go. I'm so excited. I want to get high with my dad, so bear eyes.

01:51:30 - 01:51:48 | Speaker 1:

A charcuterie board of edibles. That's right. By the way, Chelsea made a charcuterie board, a real charcuterie board, and you could tell which kids had already started partying at a time because they were eating the decorative parts of the charcuterie board. Okay. Megan found out something very interesting.

01:51:49 - 01:52:55 | Speaker 3:

It's very rare for my dad to give us information about his younger life. All I know at this point was my brother was not allowed to attend the same high school as my dad was sent home. Said, please do not attend the school. You will not be admitted as a student. Not entirely sure as to why. I've gotten wisps of information here and there, but I really don't know the full story. So if somebody has sent St. John Jesuit and knows that story about Scott Mack, 1980, please let me know. um so uh it's just we have this family rule that you don't get to learn information until you're 25 i'm nearly 30 and i still barely have any information but my dad did this like let this one slip apparently on his first date with the woman who gave birth to me because that's what i call her now um apparently on their first date he had picked her up and his car caught on fire on the way to their first date so she was already in the car flames were a blazing from under the And I said, and she still married you? And he said, yeah. It was the worst first date I had ever been on. And it turns out that was the woman that I married.

01:52:56 - 01:53:05 | Speaker 1:

Wow. Yeah. Did your dad use the line then, now knowing the past, that he should have known? Shut it down. Shut it down.

01:53:05 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 3:

The omens were there. Wow.

01:53:10 - 01:54:45 | Speaker 1:

By the way, it's funny. at Thanksgiving, or like I said, any holiday dinner table, the parents will come out with everything. They'll tell the kids everything, because that was how I found out about my dad hadn't been married before, was my brother Bill actually talked to my dad after he went to Cuba, and I think I've told this story numerous times on the air. My brother Bill went to Cuba and met and saw pictures of what my dad's first wife looked like, and my dad decided at Thanksgiving dinner to tell everybody about his first wife my brother bill was the only one that knew about that so um and no their car did not start on fire uh at all although i wonder what his omen was when he realized that was probably not going to be a good uh a good marriage um 844 mojo live 844 665-6548 what was the big revelation at the dinner table this year for you guys did anybody have any good revelations at all jacob was telling me about some friends of his who were coming out to family members, which I found to be really interesting because when Jake came out, he came out in an intimate moment with Chelsea and I. We were at a dinner, but it was just us eating dinner with him. And I don't know if necessarily, I think it's a great moment. You've got to do it the way you want to do it. But I loved that he did it to just Chelsea and I together, like at that moment. But we found out that it was, I believe, Thanksgiving that he told his brothers the year prior to that. Um, cause he told them at Thanksgiving time and they kept the secret for a good period of time and didn't, uh, and didn't tell anybody.

01:54:45 - 01:54:46 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. They have that bond.

01:54:47 - 01:54:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Um, I'm always the one that doesn't know what's going on too.

01:54:52 - 01:54:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Well, you're a dad. Sometimes they do tell us and we just didn't listen.

01:54:56 - 01:54:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. We don't know.

01:54:57 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Were you on your phone or something when Jacob was?

01:55:00 - 01:55:02 | Speaker 4:

about to tell you this huge

01:55:02 - 01:55:34 | Speaker 3:

announcement. Well, he said he told Chels, the way he told us is he told Chels about his boyfriend and he said, yeah, so my boyfriend and he said his name and stuff and Chels goes, Tom, did you hear that? And I said, hear what? Well, Jake was just telling us about his boyfriend. I go, oh, really? Oh, oh, really? Going, oh, okay. I think it's so funny that people choose like the holiday as that moment but it has to be because of either alcohol or edibles with some

01:55:34 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 1:

announcement it's also that it's so much easier to say it once to everybody instead of having to keep telling everybody individually you know yeah i but there's some of them though that

01:55:44 - 01:55:51 | Speaker 3:

might not be good to do because in and i don't know what the timing is um but all right mallory

01:55:51 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 4:

what's up hi this is mallory i've got a great story for you guys so this year my father who is older he is 80 we found out he was a jewel thief and he went to prison for 10 years and then he got out and met my mom and changed his whole life around but the whole ongoing thing was that he would refer to it as being in school so we thought dad was in school for so long how How come he's not a professor by now? And he came out that, yep, he was in jail for stealing, you know, jewels.

01:56:22 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So what part of his life was he in jail? Like, were you alive when he was in jail?

01:56:28 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 4:

No, he had us older. So he went in from 18 to 28 and then got out, met my mom. So it was, but the FBI was watching our house for a long time. Wow.

01:56:38 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. And you found this out at what point?

01:56:41 - 01:56:48 | Speaker 4:

When the final drinks were being served with the dessert. Everyone was pretty hammered by that point

01:56:48 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 3:

Nobody can top that story

01:56:50 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 4:

So I'm like well now we have to write a book About dad's life for sure

01:56:55 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 3:

Mallory do you have a new found Like I don't know Like you look up to your dad and go Wow dad was a jewel thief

01:57:04 - 01:57:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh well he has so many Interesting stories that didn't shock me But yes he's probably The most interesting man I know And I know all my history from him as well because he's the biggest history boss, so he's just the most interesting. He had lots of time to study while he was in school.

01:57:20 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 2:

You want to know what I'm getting for Christmas? Fat. I'm getting fat.

01:57:24 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 1:

Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning.

01:57:33 - 01:58:22 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show. Mojo in the Morning. Oh, I wanted to bring something up before we get into some of the other stuff because I know it's segues and I don't want to get into too much sex because this is kind of like the sex-filled portions of the show when we do things like this. So Eric Harthen gave me an idea that a buddy of his did. You know, being a married guy sometimes and you got family, You try to, like, plan to get intimate with your partner, right, with my wife. So Eric was telling me about a buddy who did this, and I tried it. I sent Chelsea a Google invite to have sex.

01:58:23 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 4:

What?

01:58:24 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:58:26 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 4:

To be funny or to be serious?

01:58:28 - 02:00:04 | Speaker 3:

Well, Eric told me about a buddy of his that did this. And when he was telling me about it, I'm, like, going, oh, my God, that's brilliant. So I said, this is great. So I sent it to her only to get denied. and it was for it was for a good reason and you guys tell me if you guys think that this is a good reason so my google invite for sex to chelsea got denied because and we were all under the same roof and she was like i am not having sex with everybody around here and all the boys here and i'm like well we lock the door and have you know and and do it and she's like but the problem is All the kids are there. They all walk in and around. Like my kids, we have to be careful like if we're going and showering because my kids will walk into the bathroom sometimes because of that. But I wanted to ask this question. Do you, as a married person, with kids and family and stuff over the holidays, Do you find that your sex life is not as active because you have, like, relatives and family all visiting for the holidays? Because I feel like this is the month where I have the least amount of sex. Yet, I have done things that, you know, deserve to have sex. Like, I have done good things. Like, I've, you know, I carry the tree in from the garage. I bought nice Christmas gifts. you know I've planned nice holiday functions and things like that.

02:00:04 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 5:

And you didn't get laid for all that.

02:00:06 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 3:

Can you believe that? Can you believe that? Is that unbelievable? And the excuse was the kids were home, that that was the deal. What would you guys do? Because I'll treat it like this. Ellen, you just went home and visited your mom and dad. Hypothetically, because your mom and dad are divorced, but they are maybe possibly, who knows? I don't know if they're in other relationships. What would you do if your mom and dad were still together and you went home for the holidays and your parents were boinking in the bedroom?

02:00:39 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 6:

Gouge my own eyes out and never go home again. But how would you, like, there are ways to do it so that nobody knows. Like, are you telling me that you and Chels didn't have sex the entire time your kids were in the house, like, when they were growing up?

02:00:52 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 3:

No, we would, well, when they were little, little, we were okay with doing it because we didn't think that they, they were actually sound sleepers. okay um but we would try now they're just aware is what you're saying they're more aware um luke's room is definitely above us so if we are having sex it's usually when luke is not home in his room it's usually when he's in the basement yelling at his friends while he's playing like madden or something like that okay yeah so so there are times but with all the kids there and then relatives also visiting you know i mean because we got in-laws and things like that that come visit, it becomes a non-sex Christmas. What's up, Tank? Hello, dog. How you doing, buddy? Help me on this one here. First off, isn't that a brilliant idea to Google invite your spouse for a sex-filled night?

02:01:41 - 02:01:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:01:42 - 02:01:48 | Speaker 3:

It's only a brilliant idea if it works. I know. But when Eric told me that, I died laughing. I said, I got to try this.

02:01:49 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was the same as just sending the text.

02:01:52 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly. Right?

02:01:54 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 1:

Right. So, yeah, I mean, I personally don't care who's in the house, but, you know, if she's got a problem, just go grab her room real quick.

02:02:02 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 3:

Wait, do you have young children or do you guys have older children?

02:02:07 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, I got a range of children from 12 on up to 20.

02:02:13 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, okay. So, I mean, I guess the 12-year-olds and stuff like that, I mean, I don't know. You guys aren't worried?

02:02:21 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 1:

No, they're so into their phones and crap, man. It don't even make sense. Yeah.

02:02:27 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 3:

That's what I should say. They're so into their phones and stuff like that. Although, Tank, you don't seem like a guy that ever has a problem getting laid.

02:02:36 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're not going to talk about that. My wife wants you to.

02:02:40 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 3:

Do you? All right, guys.

02:02:42 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 1:

Have a great day. Do you?

02:02:43 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 3:

He's bailing out while he's safe. Have a Merry Christmas, okay?

02:02:46 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 2:

All right. You too.

02:02:47 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care of yourself.

02:02:48 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't want to incriminate himself. Yeah.

02:02:50 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 3:

Mike, do you guys have sex with Cecily and Milo? Because don't the kids sometimes still go running in your bedroom and stuff? I did until I started yelling about the ornaments.

02:03:03 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 5:

No, we do. We lock the door, though. Like, we lock both, like, because there's a bathroom attached right there. So we lock the bathroom in the bedroom door.

02:03:10 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever have the kids pounding on the door? What are you doing in there?

02:03:15 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, one time we forgot to lock the bathroom door, And we hadn't started fully Like we were just like kissing and stuff And Cecily came in And she's like I was so worried because your door was locked And I had no idea what was going on Oh my god It could have gone really bad

02:03:30 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 4:

Every man has the right to be ugly But Mojo is abusing the privilege This is Mojo in the Morning Alright

02:03:43 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 3:

You gotta call us up and tell us in this one here Topic is coal for Christmas. Mojo on the morning show.

02:03:50 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 2:

We've all heard that threat about Santa leaving coal in your stocking, right? I think all of our parents do this. Do they currently do that? Shannon, do you still do that with the kitties?

02:03:58 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 6:

I just say Santa.

02:03:59 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 2:

Do they know what coal is?

02:04:01 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 6:

It's so funny. Because it's still in a lot of the old shows. I just say Santa's not going to come.

02:04:05 - 02:04:06 | Speaker 2:

I haven't used coal. Wow.

02:04:07 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 6:

Well, what's the difference? Coal or nothing?

02:04:09 - 02:04:15 | Speaker 2:

Well, I don't know if it's worse. I mean, coal is kind of like Santa's rubbing your face in it. Like, oh, I'm going to put something in your stocking. Psyche.

02:04:15 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 4:

I told my kids that they were getting cold. I told Cecily she was getting her cold once, and she said, good, Daddy. We can use it for your grill then.

02:04:21 - 02:04:23 | Unknown:

And I said, oh, yeah.

02:04:23 - 02:04:24 | Speaker 6:

She is the sweetest girl.

02:04:25 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 3:

She looks for the positives and everything. Yeah, well. Oh, she was being a smarty? I think so, yeah.

02:04:30 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 2:

Well, maybe it is a generational thing, because one of my neighbors, Ty, he told me, and he's kind of my age, but he told me when he was 13, his parents actually gave him cold and nothing else. And so I thought I'm going to bring this up on the air And ask if there's anyone listening Who just never got some Like they got nothing for Christmas one year Because you talk about emotionally scarring

02:04:51 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 6:

Yeah

02:04:52 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

I mean it's one thing to fake them out And then give them their gifts And like maybe make them think for five minutes But

02:05:00 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 3:

He said he was being a real jerk to his brother and sister, and he was always misbehaving. His parents constantly reminded him that he would get coal if he was bad, but he never believed it would happen.

02:05:11 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 10:

You know what we need to do? We need to look for what is the modern-day equivalent of coal nowadays. Yeah. Like, what would be that? We'll have to figure out if there's something more different that should be used as an analogy.

02:05:22 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 3:

For me, it would be we gave all the spam bots your phone number for Christmas.

02:05:27 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 10:

Russell, can I grab this one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Russell, hi.

02:05:32 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:05:32 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 10:

How you doing, Russell?

02:05:34 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 1:

I'm doing great. Great morning. Good morning. How about everyone? Good morning.

02:05:38 - 02:05:40 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, good. Doing good. Did you get coal for Christmas?

02:05:42 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 1:

I did not, but my dad used to work for the railroad when I was a kid. And to tease us, in hindsight, he brought home a piece of coal for my grandfather as a gag gift.

02:05:56 - 02:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Okay. So that's probably floated around in some stockings over the years.

02:06:00 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 10:

That's a good one.

02:06:02 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Russell sounds like he got weed for Christmas. Well, I just want to give you the end results of Ty's Christmas because his siblings got gifts Christmas morning. He got none, just a rock or cola or whatever it was. And then he thought, well, surely they're just holding back. They never gave him anything. No. Never. That whole Christmas, he got no gifts.

02:06:22 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 4:

How could you do that as a parent? Even if you were trying to teach a really huge lesson, That is just, that's bad

02:06:28 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 10:

Dawn

02:06:29 - 02:06:30 | Speaker 4:

Hi

02:06:30 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 10:

Hey, coal for Christmas, did you get it?

02:06:33 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 8:

No, but when my youngest daughter was like nine, maybe eight She started to question whether there was a real Santa I think she probably knew But anyway, she asked for a lump of coal That's all she asked for for Christmas

02:06:48 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

02:06:49 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 8:

Tried to test stuff, I guess And so

02:06:53 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 10:

Santa brought her a lump of coal? Yeah

02:06:56 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, well, it was, I actually, I was just going to wrap up some charcoal, and my husband's like, no, this has got to be, this has got to be, you know, legitimate.

02:07:06 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:07:07 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 8:

So, my father-in-law found, like, it looked like a lump of coal, and it was in a little red bag, and it said, ho, ho, ho, someone was naughty.

02:07:16 - 02:07:19 | Speaker 10:

Oh, I like that. Ho, ho, ho, you get your coal.

02:07:19 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 3:

Imagine these days you can just get everything on Amazon, even the bad stuff.

02:07:22 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 10:

We should do dog, doggy doo-doo, like those little doggy bags. Right, yeah. What's up, Sam?

02:07:28 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 7:

Hey.

02:07:29 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 10:

How you doing?

02:07:29 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 7:

So I got a good. I got a bucket of coal, but it was actually black licorice. Oh, I've seen that. I've seen they sell that.

02:07:39 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 3:

That it would be worse. Yeah, yeah. I love black licorice.

02:07:43 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 9:

I love black licorice. You're the only one.

02:07:45 - 02:07:46 | Speaker 10:

What's up, Dee?

02:07:47 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 9:

Good morning, guys. Can you hear me okay?

02:07:49 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, I got you.

02:07:50 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 9:

My great nephew, these kids are hilarious. I picked him up from school yesterday. He's about six. He said that his classmate touched the elf on the shelf and told him that she didn't believe. His response to her was, well, I guess we know what you're getting from Santa, a whole bunch of colds.

02:08:09 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 10:

Oh, yeah. And Santa better follow through on that just to make sure, right? Yeah.

02:08:14 - 02:08:16 | Speaker 3:

Man, the poor kid's going to be sweating for a month.

02:08:17 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 10:

Yeah. Thank you for the call.

02:08:19 - 02:08:19 | Speaker 3:

See you later.

02:08:20 - 02:08:28 | Speaker 10:

Appreciate it. It's going to be fun. Nicole says that her son Is getting coal this year You're going to actually follow through on that?

02:08:29 - 02:08:48 | Speaker 6:

I am, yes He has been suspended about five times This year from school And he thinks I'm joking about it I have a few things put away But on Christmas morning He will be seeing coal And then maybe the next day He'll get a couple things Wow, you're going to wait all the way to the next day

02:08:48 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 3:

Unbelievable The problem is if you don't follow through on those threats, and the kids know there's no consequences. Wow. But it is a big threat to throw out there to cancel Christmas.

02:08:59 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 10:

You are, by the way, the mom. You're the mom that turns the car around when you say, I'm going to turn the car around if you guys don't

02:09:05 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 6:

stop that. Oh, yeah. I pulled the car over. We've sat on the side of the road before.

02:09:10 - 02:09:38 | Speaker 10:

Did you really? Oh, my gosh. Well, have a Merry Christmas. Take care of yourself. You too. Bye, guys. Bye. Joe in the morning. Leah, who is it that you think that your husband is cheating with? Um, I think my sister. Your sister? Why do you suspect that? I live in Michigan and she lives

02:09:38 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 5:

in Dayton and he travels a lot for work and so, you know, he travels over there sometimes and And instead of, you know, staying at a hotel or whatever, you know, he stays at my sister's place.

02:09:53 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 10:

So why would that be that he's cheating? Maybe he's just trying to say it.

02:10:00 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 4:

money i mean that's that's what i thought in the beginning but he's going a lot right now and not too long ago i i called his secretary uh because i was trying to reach him and because he wasn't picking up so i told her that you know i couldn't reach him and you know because he's out of town right now and she said that she didn't know why he was out there because he didn't need

02:10:22 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 3:

to travel so much wait you mean the secretary was complaining that he travels too much or she was saying he actually didn't need to be out there right now. She didn't even know he was there.

02:10:34 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, that particular time she didn't know he was there. And then I proceeded to continue the conversation and said, well, he goes out there all the time for work. And she's like, I don't know why because he doesn't

02:10:44 - 02:10:46 | Speaker 2:

need to be. So is your sister single?

02:10:48 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 4:

She's divorced.

02:10:49 - 02:10:53 | Speaker 3:

I mean, that's weird if his own secretary didn't know he was there.

02:10:53 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, have you talked to her about it?

02:10:56 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 1:

Or talk to him about it Have you ever said to him Hey what's going on between the two of you guys

02:11:02 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 4:

No I didn't bring it up Because I didn't want to Create something and have an Opportunity for him to lie to me You know they used to date You know when we were growing up Oh What

02:11:17 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 3:

We didn't know that

02:11:18 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 4:

I mean that was a long time ago Really long time ago

02:11:22 - 02:11:36 | Speaker 1:

Alright we're going to call We're going to call up your husband to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. We want the roses to go to Leah, who thinks that her sister and her husband are cheating.

02:11:53 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hi, I'm looking for Chad.

02:11:57 - 02:11:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, this is him who's calling.

02:11:59 - 02:12:10 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Chad. My name's Nicole, and I'm calling from a new internet floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers, and all you have to do is answer two very short survey questions. Do you have 20 or 30 seconds?

02:12:13 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

02:12:14 - 02:12:18 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Chad, do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

02:12:20 - 02:12:20 | Speaker 4:

No.

02:12:20 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 2:

And have you purchased flowers in the last six months?

02:12:24 - 02:12:25 | Unknown:

No.

02:12:25 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay, that's all we needed. And as a thank you for participating in the survey, rosesbloom.com, again, is the name of our company. We're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses. And I just need to get some info from you, and we'll get these sent out today, okay?

02:12:40 - 02:12:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay.

02:12:41 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 2:

So first, I need the first and the last name of who you want the flowers to go to.

02:12:48 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 4:

Uh, Jamie.

02:12:51 - 02:13:10 | Speaker 2:

Okay. and before i get jamie's info i can also include a message on a card with the flowers did you want to do that i'm sorry i couldn't hear you we can also include a message on a card with the flowers did you want to do that or i could just sign your name however you

02:13:10 - 02:13:20 | Speaker 4:

want to do it uh just say i hope that uh this brightens your day okay and then how should i

02:13:20 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 2:

sign your name love from or just okay and Chad I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you

02:13:32 - 02:14:25 | Speaker 1:

okay with that great Chad I also need to jump on the phone here and in just inform you about one other thing um wait who are you i actually uh work for the same company okay i need to inform you that while you've been sending flowers to this this woman that you sent them to that your wife leah is on the phone and just heard that this is the mojo in the morning show and your wife was suspicious that something was going on with you and Leah is that your sister who he sent them to

02:14:25 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 4:

yes

02:14:26 - 02:14:44 | Speaker 1:

and and her sister chad why are you sending flowers to your sister-in-law

02:14:44 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

because she i felt like needed a little pick-me-up something to make her feel better she's been why She's been

02:15:00 - 02:15:01 | Speaker 3:

going through a tough time.

02:15:02 - 02:15:06 | Speaker 2:

So then why wouldn't you sign the flowers, Chad and Leah?

02:15:09 - 02:15:19 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I just didn't think of it. I mean, they were at... I don't know why you are suspicious.

02:15:23 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 1:

Chad, your wife just hung up the phone because she's now thinking that you are having an affair with her sister. And he hangs up, too. Try to get Leah back on the phone. What's your thought?

02:15:48 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I think his excuse is crap because going back to what I said, if she was going through a rough time, one her sister would know it and then wouldn't you send the flowers to her as a couple right

02:16:01 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 1:

yeah and and um i mean i would why but most of all more than even the sending the flowers why is it that you're going and staying with your sister-in-law when it's not needed and your receptionist or secretary or whoever at your work is basically calling out saying that he's not

02:16:22 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 3:

supposed to be going there yeah if you're on a work trip your but your work knows you're on a

02:16:26 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 4:

trip this is the home of the war of the roses mojo in the morning

02:16:30 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 3:

02:16:41 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 1:

leah who is it that you think that your husband is cheating with

02:16:46 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 4:

I think my sister

02:16:49 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 2:

So first I need the First and the last name of who you want the flowers to go to

02:16:55 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 4:

Jamie Okay

02:17:01 - 02:17:08 | Speaker 2:

And before I get Jamie's info I can also include a message on a card with the flowers Did you want to do that?

02:17:11 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 3:

Just say I hope this This frightens your day

02:17:16 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and then how should I sign your name? Love, from, or just sign to?

02:17:23 - 02:17:23 | Unknown:

C.

02:17:24 - 02:17:33 | Speaker 1:

C. Leah's back on the phone with us. Leah, when you hung up the phone, what did you do?

02:17:35 - 02:17:37 | Speaker 4:

I tried to call the b****.

02:17:38 - 02:17:39 | Speaker 1:

No answer?

02:17:40 - 02:17:41 | Unknown:

She wasn't picking up.

02:17:41 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 1:

have you ever suspected anything from these guys before the whole traveling situation anything in the in the past i suspected from my sister because she's like

02:17:57 - 02:18:03 | Speaker 4:

she tried to a bunch of my my exes in the past that's why she's divorced

02:18:03 - 02:18:14 | Speaker 1:

she's divorced because she tried to have sex with one of your exes Or she had tried to have sex With one of your relationships Yeah

02:18:14 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 2:

So there's a history Here of her doing this sort of thing to you

02:18:21 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 4:

I just didn't think she'd do it with him

02:18:24 - 02:18:27 | Unknown:

Wow

02:18:27 - 02:18:47 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to put you back on hold So that We can talk more off the air We're still trying to get Chad back on But obviously he's not picking up Chantel, I'm going to grab some listener calls here, too. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Hi, Chantel. You wanted to make a comment on something that you heard.

02:18:48 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, good morning. I am wondering why he used a C for his name instead of putting his name. To me, that feels like he's trying to hide from anyone who may see the flowers.

02:19:00 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 1:

You know, that's actually good. Ellen, ask that question to Leah of why – is that, like, something that he called her or something? Oh, that is something that he called her. Okay. So I guess he would call her C or call him C because his name is Chad.

02:19:15 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:19:16 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I don't know.

02:19:19 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 4:

I just think it's pretty suspicious. I feel like, like I said, he's trying to hide from anyone who may see the flowers other than her.

02:19:26 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 1:

Right, right. Mojo in the morning. Adam, what did you want to say?

02:19:30 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, everybody. I'm so sorry to hear that this is going on with Leah Man, now that I hear he just signed his name C Maybe he's even embarrassed of his own name Chad Chad is just one of those names to me That is just I never trusted Chad If I meet a guy named Chad I'm just like, oh, well, we're not going to be friends

02:19:48 - 02:20:08 | Speaker 1:

That's a good point There's a lot of douchebag Chads in this world But Should have raised suspicions right away Never trusted Chad That's words of wisdom there Thank you Uh, uh. uh samson what's up hey what's up what's going on pretty bold to cheat with uh you know a sister

02:20:08 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 5:

right yeah definitely definitely um i just want to know if she had the past uh you know the sister had a past and going after her why was she okay with them staying there in the first place you

02:20:20 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 1:

know that's a that's a you know something that we probably should have followed up but she seems so emotional i didn't want to say that to her but yeah i mean you don't you don't you know put this right into his into her hands but eventually can you ever trust somebody like that you know for

02:20:36 - 02:20:47 | Speaker 5:

sure for sure and yeah also you know he she was dating her ex i don't know if it was they were kids or high school or whatever but i guess at one point she what he what he did belong to the

02:20:47 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 1:

sister yeah they dated at one point but that was before marriage so um what's up tanya it's mojo

02:20:53 - 02:21:12 | Speaker 2:

in the morning war of the roses comments here good morning mojo my comment is um shame on her sister absolutely he's guilty but as her sister that's a line that she should she should not cross that's like a trust barrier that's now been broken between them like that i feel so bad for

02:21:12 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 1:

leah i i don't know how you do that you know i don't either and i have a sister and i would never i would never hurt her like that yeah off limits 616 says uh and by the way 844 mojo live is our telephone number or we'll call you if you text 616 says can't talk right now but i dated a girl and i cheated on her with her older sister i still regret it to this day another caller or texter here 734 says they don't trust their brother with their wife because their brother is one that has bad choices in life, according to them. 586 says, OMG, so sorry for Leah with the praying hands emoji right after that. Another one here says, I agree with your caller that says don't ever trust a Chad. If there is, I'd like to hear from them. I just... Because I don't even know how you get into a relationship. It would be weird, wouldn't it? Yeah. Tony, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:22:53 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Mojo? I was just thinking, she said that they dated before, the sister dated him before.

02:23:00 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah.

02:23:01 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if she probably never wanted her sister to marry him or maybe be with him.

02:23:07 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:23:07 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 4:

She maybe never, ever got over that.

02:23:10 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I mean, you know, but I guess it was so long ago. When we were doing a little research on this one, it was such a while ago. But, yeah, like Spike and I were just having this discussion right now. I don't know if I could – I couldn't date somebody that I knew my brother was all up in.

02:23:29 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 4:

And sometimes the time doesn't matter.

02:23:33 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yep. You know? Thank you, Tony. All right. Mojo on the Morning Show. Amanda, hello.

02:23:41 - 02:23:42 | Speaker 3:

Hi. How are you? Good.

02:23:42 - 02:23:43 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

02:23:43 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 3:

Not much driving to work But I actually just have the same thought That the lamp caller had Like they dated before And so the sister married him And now she's jealous That she never got him And that she didn't marry him And is just trying to get back with her I just feel like it was like To get back with him I just feel like it was like a revenge thing Even though it was so long ago

02:24:05 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah I mean it could be This could be It could also be not just revenge For marrying him sometimes siblings have these rivalries throughout life where they feel like the one sibling got everything, you know, from the parent or whatever. And it's kind of their way of psychologically, you know, getting back at them, you know?

02:24:25 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 3:

She said that she had tried to mess with somebody else before her, her husband or boyfriend before, and that's why she's not divorced. So I just feel like she doesn't care. She doesn't know, like she does not care about how the sister feels about anything and it will go after anybody. And this guy, she actually dated.

02:24:42 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 1:

before so she was like i'm gonna get him back uh thank you for the call gina uh what happened

02:24:47 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 2:

so my sister was working with a guy that was younger than her and she liked him so she ended up fixing him up with her sister me and so i dated him several times he just really wasn't my type but you know i knew he was a good guy Okay.

02:25:00 - 02:25:01 | Speaker 6:

and eventually they got married.

02:25:02 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. Was it weird? Was it weird, though, that you were set up with him, and then all of a sudden now they're married to each other?

02:25:09 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 6:

Well, obviously she liked him, but he was too young at the time, and as he got older, he became a better match. But the thing is, obviously I see him all the time, and I love him for being my sister's husband, so he's a great guy.

02:25:20 - 02:25:26 | Speaker 3:

So there's never any weird stuff going on with you and him in like a back closet or something.

02:25:27 - 02:25:28 | Speaker 6:

No, no, but he flirts with me.

02:25:28 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 3:

we won't talk about that all right sarah what's up it's mojo in the morning

02:25:37 - 02:25:44 | Speaker 5:

so my dad is now dating and living with my aunt oh geez my mom's sister wait did something happen

02:25:44 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

while they were married while your mom and dad were married not while they were married um they

02:25:49 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 5:

were both separated at the time and my dad and my aunt started hanging out and then they ended up happy in a relationship how did that family holidays are fun how did that go over with uh your mom uh it was a little weird at first but now everything's fine like we still all do christmas together and yeah holidays and nice do you think it is weird because i'm not sure what to call her or to oh i never even thought of that yeah oh my gosh i'm gonna ask this question and i hate i

02:26:20 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 3:

shouldn't even ask this because of but do you think anything ever happened when dad and mom

02:26:26 - 02:26:33 | Speaker 5:

were married no not when they were married my aunt wasn't around very often okay all right good

02:26:33 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 3:

all right well thank you for the call sarah have a good one all right somebody just texted in and said that their brother married their ex is that you cj did we get you on the phone yeah what's

02:26:46 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 4:

going on mojo so what's the story uh what is it i was going out with this girl for a while and then she ended up uh going with my brother mid-party and then they actually ended up getting married

02:26:59 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 3:

but everybody's cool with it now did you and her ever were you ever intimate with her were you guys ever oh yeah oh yeah so is it is it wild like do you ever like throw jabs at your brother that you guys were together?

02:27:11 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 4:

No. It's all cool, copacetic. They've been married for seven years now.

02:27:18 - 02:27:21 | Speaker 3:

Do you think that she looks at you, though, and says you're the better lover?

02:27:22 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 4:

No. Everything's all, like, plutonic and all the good vibes.

02:27:27 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 3:

Is it because you're not the better lover, or who's the better lover between the two of you guys?

02:27:32 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 4:

I would say I am. If you ask my current wife right now, I would say I am.

02:27:36 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 3:

All right. Okay, I just want to make sure.

02:27:38 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 2:

Let's ask her. What's her number?

02:27:39 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 4:

Not your current wife Hey, Spike Spike, you're my favorite Thanks

02:27:47 - 02:27:50 | Speaker 2:

I hope you're everybody's favorite

02:27:50 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah Wouldn't it be weird if we called up his wife and said Hey, who's the better lover and she had an answer? Yeah That would not be good

02:27:58 - 02:28:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, that'd be funny to me No, you know, it'd be worse

02:28:01 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 2:

CJ'd be worse if she didn't have an answer She'd have to think about it

02:28:05 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah

02:28:07 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 3:

Take care of yourself, buddy

02:28:09 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 4:

02:29:27 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 2:

02:31:53 - 02:31:54 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

02:31:54 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 3:

Hey, we have something special for you today. We received a beautiful letter about you and your two babies for our breaking and entering Christmas wish. And your beautiful mom is going to read you that letter, okay?

02:32:11 - 02:33:34 | Speaker 1:

All right. Dear Mojo in the morning, my name is Renee Wysocki, and I'm writing to you to nominate my daughter, Melissa, for your breaking and entering Christmas wish. Melissa is an amazing single mom with two young children. Unfortunately, my incredible daughter suffers from MS. She does her best to work and take care of her kids and get through each and every day. But recently, she had a relapse and ended up in the hospital. and this relapse was so bad that her neurologist has advised her to rest at home and not go back to work until February. That news was devastating to her as she desperately needs this job to keep food on the table and a roof over her family's heads right now. And to make matters even worse, the company she works for let her go. Melissa currently has a furnace that isn't working either And she's behind on her mortgage Christmas for my grandchildren is just not going to happen And I know you can make it happen, Mojo Please make this little family's Christmas a magical one Thank you and sincerely, Renee

02:33:34 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 3:

Wow So, your loving mother and, of course, your loving father wanted to make sure that you and their grandbabies are taken care of this Christmas. And that's why we're granting a Christmas wish for you this morning, Melissa.

02:33:54 - 02:33:55 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

02:33:56 - 02:33:58 | Speaker 3:

We're bringing Christmas to your house.

02:33:59 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 1:

That's the one thing.

02:34:00 - 02:34:04 | Speaker 3:

And we... First off, how are you feeling? How are you doing?

02:34:05 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 2:

I have my days. I have my days. Still very weak.

02:34:10 - 02:34:14 | Speaker 3:

I know it's got to be tough, but you stay strong for those children, don't you?

02:34:14 - 02:34:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

02:34:16 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 3:

I can't believe that being out on disability like this, that a work would do that to you, too. That's just awful during the holidays. Well, we're coming together as a community. We know how strong everybody in Toledo are about protecting their own, and that's why we're going to protect you and we're going to make sure that we bring Christmas in. And Mike, you got all kinds of good gifts that we can carry into that house?

02:34:44 - 02:35:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we've just lined the living room floor with Christmas gifts for you. Why don't you come take a look? Right over here. There's so much. Yeah, there's so much there. Mike, tell everybody what we got today.

02:35:04 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 5:

Why don't we let the queen of all this tell you. Lydia, what do we have here for the little ones?

02:35:09 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 3:

We have a lot of goodies. So I know AJ's been saving up for a digital clock. So we got him his very own digital clock. We got here a Nintendo Switch. We have Minecraft blankets. We have some Minecraft games for the Switch.

02:35:30 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 2:

and that's all just for austin and there's so much more in there too for austin austin's eight years old austin your baby do you cuddle with your baby all the time on the couch yes of course

02:35:43 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 6:

yeah it's so cute that he was saving up for his own alarm clocks he liked the idea of setting

02:35:49 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 5:

his own clock and and being responsible they told me a story when we uh when we first got here that he left his school is around the corner from the house and he's so excited to get to school but didn't have a clock, so he thought he was late one day, and he left an hour, what was it, an hour early? It was like an hour early and it was raining out. Yeah, they couldn't find him, and he was at the school, but this is going to help so much. Wow.

02:36:12 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 2:

We didn't forget about Tiara. Lydia, what do we got for Tiara?

02:36:17 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 3:

Tiara, we have some goodies for you. We have an iPad. She loves art, so we got her her very own art set, an easel, some paint. We got her some candles. I heard she loves a nightmare before Christmas, so I definitely bought her a sock calendar set. We got her that, and we got her some book sets for Harry Potter. So fun.

02:36:39 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing.

02:36:40 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 3:

She'll never be bored.

02:36:41 - 02:36:52 | Speaker 2:

Wow. And Melissa, we didn't forget about you because we know with Battle and MS, it's got to be a struggle just to try to stay comforted. So we wanted to make sure that we took care of you with some comforting items.

02:36:53 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, we have all the household goods you so desperately need. But also, we're going to give you a lot of personal care items to spoil you. And I'm not going to get into the whole list. There's a lot of things, personal usage things and candles and comfort things and then slippers. But Xfinity is going to give you a laptop so you can also work from home while you're on bed rest and also keep track of those kitties in school and do all the things you need to do.

02:37:17 - 02:37:37 | Speaker 4:

And we know that you're behind on some bills, and we can't let that be the case this Christmas. So we are going to write you a check for $2,500. And hopefully that's going to help with some of those bills. And we'll get you all caught up with your mortgage.

02:37:37 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 2:

And Megan, that's coming from our good friends. I want you to introduce you to some great folks that are unbelievable advertisers of our station, 92.5 KISS FM.

02:37:47 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 1:

02:37:48 - 02:37:49 | Speaker 2:

Jay Foster Jewelers.

02:37:49 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 1:

02:37:55 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 2:

02:37:57 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 4:

I believe all three.

02:37:58 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 2:

What's up, guys? How are you?

02:38:00 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 4:

Good morning.

02:38:01 - 02:38:04 | Speaker 5:

We're so happy to be a part of it. Merry Christmas, everyone. Merry Christmas.

02:38:05 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 2:

And Grandma, we also just got a text in from a company That says that they're a heating and cooling company And they want to make sure that your babies are warm They're going to get in contact with us So we'll call them and get in contact to get that heat going, okay?

02:38:55 - 02:38:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you guys are awesome. You guys are fantastic.

02:38:58 - 02:39:15 | Speaker 2:

We love you. All right. Well, listen, it's early in the morning. I know that. And usually we, you know, don't celebrate Christmas, you know, a full month, you know, ahead of time like we do with these breaking out of Christmas wishes. But we want you to have the spirit of the season in that beautiful house of yours, okay?

02:39:17 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 5:

Thank you. Thank you.

02:39:19 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 2:

Merry Christmas. Mike, Mike. You and those wild men from Jay Foster Jewelers. Let's get everybody together. Let's have a party. Come on.

02:39:28 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 5:

All right, all right. Let's get back in the living room real quick. All right, I know we might have some people sleeping still, right? My son. Oh, he can wake up. It's time for him to wake up. All right, on the count of three, guys, I want to give a big Merry Christmas and get as loud as possible because we're going to wake the little one up. You guys ready? One, two, three Merry Christmas!

02:39:54 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 4:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning

02:39:59 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning

02:40:00 - 02:40:52 | Speaker 1:

the morning show you're getting two phone scams for the price of one one one one we're gonna go out phone scam both managers of a store in the mall the store just got a new district manager and it's perfect timing for a phone scam because the managers haven't met their new boss yet spike is going to be that new boss calling up and pretending uh with them that there's some new rules that are going to be in play for the holidays he's going to tell them that they have to wear an elf costume this holiday season in the store we will we will scam you sorry it's a catchy song it's your home with phone scans mojo in the morning how can i help you hi jessica this is

02:40:52 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 3:

oliver from corporate how are you i'm great how are you doing oliver is scott here as well is he on the call let me let me grab him for you scott can you pick up line two hello hi scott hi jessica

02:41:05 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 2:

this is oliver nice to finally meet you guys yeah wonderful to meet you looking forward to a market visit really soon so i can get to know everyone but just want to fill you guys in on the new holiday promotion because it may take some staffing adjustment and i want to get you guys lead time to inform the staff and make sure there's no issues with covering each shift. Which one of you guys wants to take the lead on the task of tracking down costumes?

02:41:27 - 02:41:28 | Speaker 3:

I'd be happy

02:41:28 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 2:

to do that. Okay. And how many associates do you have? We have seven. All right. Take some notes. Here's what we're going to do. Basically, the promotion is called the Elf on the Shelf. Are you guys familiar with the concept of Elf on the Shelf?

02:41:42 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 3:

No, not. An elf

02:41:44 - 02:42:17 | Speaker 2:

comes to visit from the North Pole and they keep watch over the kids.

02:42:17 - 02:42:23 | Speaker 3:

So you want the actual employees at the store to sit on the shelf?

02:42:23 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 2:

Just one at each time. The other people, obviously, will be ringing up customers and working on the floor.

02:42:29 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I would love to make just a suggestion. I think that's great. I just wonder if maybe we could hire a temp, you know, maybe like a high school kid or something, only because, you know, we do have, like, Louise, who, you know, she's 56 years old, And I don't know that, you know, she'd be comfortable to sit on the shelf.

02:42:50 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 2:

She's too old to sit?

02:42:52 - 02:42:54 | Speaker 3:

Well, for a long duration of time.

02:42:54 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 2:

I mean, anyone can wear candy cane tights and sit on their ass for six hours, right? I want our staff into the spirit of the promotion, and I think they'll like it because they don't have to restock or they don't even have to talk to customers. They're supposed to sit perfectly still and not move.

02:43:09 - 02:43:22 | Speaker 4:

One more question. should we make Jill do it Jewish you know and you know I'm just not sure we can really make her do that

02:43:22 - 02:43:41 | Speaker 2:

oh lord the elf isn't a religious character I mean it's elf on a shelf alright grab a pen I want you guys to write down these elf names everybody needs to change their store name tag and have an elf name on it so just write down the first elf will be Twinkle Floppy Feet and the next one It's Glitzy McJingles.

02:43:42 - 02:43:47 | Speaker 3:

Sorry, I'm still writing Twinkle Floppy Feet. One second. Glitzy McJingles.

02:43:47 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 2:

Yep. And number three is Squeezy Festive Fingers. Number four is Perky Pickle Pants. Perky Pickle Pants. And you understand the reason they have, the employees have to choose from one of these names just because we had, they had to be cleared for trademark clearance, make sure nobody's using them. We don't, you know, get sued by anybody. The next one's Cookie Glitter Balls. And then the last one, Senor Stampy Ding Dong. Any other questions so far?

02:44:15 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 4:

Will we be selling the Elf on the Shelf toy and book?

02:44:19 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 2:

No. And you guys are going to need costumes too, by the way. Jessica, you will be dressing like Elsa or Anna, you know, the princesses from Frozen. And then Scott, you will either be a snowman or a reindeer, your choice.

02:44:33 - 02:44:36 | Speaker 4:

A snowman or a reindeer. Actually, I wouldn't mind being Santa.

02:44:37 - 02:44:41 | Speaker 2:

You're not allowed to be Santa. Too much pushback from mall management. Obviously, they got their own thing going on.

02:44:42 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 3:

So are all of us going to be in costume all the time, or...?

02:44:46 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 2:

Guys, why do you hate Christmas?

02:44:49 - 02:44:54 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I'm the manager, and I just really want the customers and my own staff to take me seriously.

02:44:54 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Stop with the Grinch bull**** and get on board, guys, or else I'm going to have to inform you that you've just been the victim.

02:45:00 - 02:45:01 | Speaker 1:

victim of a mojo on the morning phone scam.

02:45:03 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You're kidding me.

02:45:07 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 1:

I don't get it. Your entire staff just set you guys up.

02:45:13 - 02:45:15 | Speaker 4:

That was the worst idea ever.

02:45:18 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. We interrupt this message to tell you that was funny. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams.

02:45:29 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 5:

You're listening. It's a mojo in the morning.

02:45:33 - 02:45:38 | Speaker 4:

20 plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

02:45:39 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 2:

It's mojo in the morning.
