let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening to mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat

00:01:49 - 00:02:29 | Unknown:

it's showtime We'll be right back.

00:02:30 - 00:03:08 | Speaker 4:

Mojo on the Morning, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, text is 95500 if you call us. Know that we want you on the radio. Tell us if you're a first time, long time. We'd love to be able to get you on the air with us and shout you out. Kevin has a little bit of, I don't know, would you say a little disagreement going on between you and Sherelle?

00:03:08 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but it's one of those things where I guess I'm at a point now where, and you've all told me before, choose your battles. So I don't want to say disagreement because I've already bowed out gracefully and I'm no longer having the conversation. You've waved the white flag already. The white flag is waved. It tails between my legs. I surrender. Sherelle does not believe that Josiah is at a point in his life where he can stay home alone. And I believe that he can. Really? Okay, and Josiah is your son. Josiah is my son. And he is how old? He is 11 years old, and he can stay at home alone. That's what you say. That's what I say.

00:03:48 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 4:

And what does Sherelle say?

00:03:49 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 5:

So literally today, Sherelle has some errands to run. I'm like, she's like, either I can take Josiah to your mom's or I can bring him to the station at like 9 o'clock. I'm like, bro, just leave him at home. He'll be fine. For how long? It don't even matter. It does. But why?

00:04:03 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 6:

Because I think it does. Okay, why? Because is he going to be home alone all day or is he going to be home alone for an hour from, you know?

00:04:12 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 5:

So she's going to be gone all day. Okay. So let's say she leaves at 9 o'clock. I'll go home whenever we wrap things up here. Let's just say 1 o'clock at the late. Let's just say that. Sorry, Megan, I'll leave earlier than you. 1 o'clock at the latest. Is that doable? 9 to 1? That's still...

00:04:29 - 00:04:50 | Speaker 6:

So I'm a nervous Nelly. And I probably wouldn't. I agree with Sherelle. See, here's my thing. The reason I say how long is like sometimes I'll tell Lucy, hey, when you get off the bus, mom's going to be like 10 or 15 minutes behind you. Just let yourself in through the garage. I will be right there. And even that makes me a little nervous. I'll be honest. She's 10.

00:04:51 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 5:

Here's my thing. If we're all in the house together It's not like Josiah's up under her arm He's going to be in his room On a computer You're on the way.

00:05:00 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 4:

roblox anyway so it's quote unquote not like anybody's watching him right he knows how to heat up pop tarts and grab pizza rolls like wait a second you're gonna let him heat up pop tarts

00:05:11 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 3:

and in in pizza rolls put pizza rolls in the oven no we put i put my pizza rolls in the microwave

00:05:16 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 4:

okay throw them in and ba ba ba 90 seconds you're good to go he can do that he can feed himself he's gonna be on the tablet or watching tv what if he chokes

00:05:27 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 1:

the cooking makes me nervous cooking makes me nervous only because i was like 23 and still setting my oven on fire so like that i get but i was left home alone like pretty frequently

00:05:40 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 4:

when i was at what age did you guys start getting left home alone there well i mean

00:05:44 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 1:

oh i don't think he'd get upset by this i've talked about my dad traveled for a living when i was growing up and then when he was a single dad uh my brother moved back home but my brother also had like a full-time job so like my brother was living at the house i was never home alone at night but i would come home from school or whatever probably at the age of 13 14 15 and

00:06:07 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

then be home alone until my brother got that to me is okay i don't know like the 10 the 9 10 11 12

00:06:13 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 1:

is where i'm like are like i don't i don't know i was babysitting the neighbor kids at like 12 So I was in charge of younger kids.

00:06:23 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 3:

But you were also probably close to your house and your mom or your dad was there with you?

00:06:29 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 1:

You're acting like he's not close by. If Josiah called and said, I need you here right now, how long would it take you to get there?

00:06:36 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 3:

Seven minutes, because I'm flooring you. 17, because you'd go through Chipotle's drive-thru. Heather, what are your thoughts on Kev leaving Josiah alone?

00:06:46 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 6:

well i was just saying that um i think it's completely acceptable you know your child and you know how they behave and if you call the police and ask them they will tell you at that

00:06:57 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 3:

parent's discretion wait what's the age though what's the age at parent's discretion

00:07:01 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 6:

uh there is no minimum age in the state of michigan there's no way that there's there is no

00:07:08 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 3:

way that you can parent discretion and a five-year-old i guarantee you there's got to be

00:07:12 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 2:

So there's got to be some fun.

00:07:14 - 00:07:26 | Speaker 6:

I mean, obviously, that wouldn't work, obviously. But if you think that your kid is able to stay home alone because they're self-sufficient or they're pretty responsible or they're rather mature, it's okay.

00:07:26 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 3:

We hear these stories all the time of people who leave their kids in their car with the windows cracked and their kids are in the car and they go into the casinos and stuff. I get it. You're leaving them in your car compared to in your house, but you're still leaving them alone. I don't think that is right.

00:07:41 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 2:

By the way, she is right. There is, for whatever reason, in the state of Michigan, there is no law that... Age limits? The Michigan law does not specify a minimum age for leaving a child home alone. The decision is ultimately up to the parents. However, a Child Protective Services report could be filed for leaving a child 10 or younger home alone.

00:08:02 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

10 or younger. I'm safe. What's up, Amanda? Hi.

00:08:06 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. My son's 11. and we don't want him to stay home by himself, even though he is more mature than my 19- and 17-year-old.

00:08:16 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we don't. What's your reasoning?

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 7:

He makes me nervous.

00:08:21 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 3:

Why do you not leave him home alone just to play devil's advocate? Because I agree with you. I wouldn't do it either.

00:08:26 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 7:

It just makes me nervous.

00:08:28 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Mojo, what are you worried about?

00:08:31 - 00:08:32 | Speaker 7:

A fire. Somebody breaking in.

00:08:32 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 3:

All it takes is one thing to happen, and you'll never be able to live with yourself if that happens.

00:08:40 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 4:

Yep. So all of a sudden, a fire is just going to break out.

00:08:43 - 00:08:46 | Speaker 3:

Well, you never, I mean, when does a fire break out? It doesn't get timed, right?

00:08:46 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 4:

What I'm saying, typically, there's an action that creates a fire. In most cases, I would say.

00:08:51 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 3:

But you live in a community where you've got attached places. Betty downstairs or whatever. Beverly. Beverly downstairs, you know. Here's the thing. I think Josiah is more mature than I am. Like, I would trust Josiah more than I would trust me. But all it takes is one thing bad to happen. And what's the, Sherelle gave you the option. Bring him here to the station. He can hang out with us for a little bit. He don't need to, though. He's more entertaining than you sometimes.

00:09:15 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 4:

I don't disagree.

00:09:17 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 3:

Actually, I love having him on the air. We haven't had it in a while. What's up, April? What do you think?

00:09:21 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. First time in a long time. Hey! It was on the phone!

00:09:26 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for calling.

00:09:27 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 5:

It was a mysterious turn, but I just had a funny comment. I was just going to say Kev's wrong because he put the pizza rolls in the microwave. That is true. How is that wrong?

00:09:37 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 4:

That is true. I can't be the only one that operates there.

00:09:40 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 2:

I do as well, but I will say they are better if I'm patient and I put them in the oven.

00:09:44 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

What about the air fryer?

00:09:46 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 2:

Air fryer is the best, actually.

00:09:47 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 5:

Air fryer. Okay.

00:09:48 - 00:09:52 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Josiah should not be working any of these things. What's going on, Linda?

00:09:52 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, crazy. Hi. Hi. I leave my son home. He is 11. I...

00:10:00 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 1:

Well, I go to work. I'm a single mom. I moved to Ohio, and I have no family here, and I really don't have a whole lot of friends. I usually base it off of how mature he is. He does have a phone. He does know how to call me. I know that he usually just sits at home and plays on video games. He knows not to open the door for anybody, and I do check on him through my Google Nest. that kind of a thing um so i do believe that it can be based off of how mature they are ohio is also a state that does not have an age limit so they base it off of maturity um so i do leave him there but more is more because i can't afford a babysitter and i kind of don't have other options

00:10:49 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 7:

and that is so awful that we have to worry about this because of uh child care because child care

00:10:55 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 3:

so bad in our country what's going on laura hi hi guys how are you good morning you scared me there for a second what's going on i was ordering breakfast oh no i was just gonna say i'm i agree with kev my son is nine he's about to be 10 um he's home alone quite frequently i mean i i'm canadian so i live across the border and last weekend he i had to go across to get something

00:11:21 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 7:

for my uncle and and he stayed home wait you you crossed the border and left him home alone

00:11:28 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 3:

yeah i did what what happens what happens if you got held up you know by immigration and and they wouldn't let you cross um we have tons of neighbors in the neighborhood it's a very like city i mean a very child-friendly neighborhood yeah um so he knows like he knows who our safe neighbors are he knows where to go he's known all of this because similar to the color before i'm a single parent so for many years like he's had to come home and i was at work and he had to let himself in the house for the last few years especially with covid um and i it's just

00:12:02 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 7:

got it sometimes it's what you got to do that's so fun uh we have somebody from child protective services casey from cps on the phone with us right now you there would you like to have me arrest him for you citizens arrest would you like us should we take away his parental rights

00:12:20 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

No, I actually agree with Kev. There we go. I work for Child Protective Services, and this is something we deal with a lot, but I think just based on what Kev says, maturity of what he says about Josiah, try giving it a couple hours and see how he does and check in. Like Shannon said, too, there's not a law in the state of Michigan. It's based on the maturity of your child, and most parents know their child better than a stranger or public opinion. So here's a question. I agree with Kevin.

00:12:55 - 00:13:11 | Speaker 7:

You agree with Kevin, but if something happens at that house in a fire or, you know, he hurts himself, he falls out of bed and cracks his head open, whatever. If he is hurt and taken to the hospital, CPS is one of the first that will be called, right, to investigate what's going on?

00:13:13 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 2:

Yes and no. But if he has, if he's left without some form of proper care and custody or couldn't reach somebody.

00:13:22 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 7:

So what is proper care and custody then?

00:13:26 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 2:

That he has access to a phone or an adult in the case of an emergency. Somebody that could come if he was hurt, safe. I mean, accidents happen all the time, right? We can't live in a, we're a very reactive world. So as long as he has those tools and somebody knows he's home alone or can have access, and like I said, if need be, he could be there in seven minutes.

00:13:48 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 6:

Does that work for you, Detective Mojo? Because you're interrogating her.

00:13:51 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 7:

I am interrogating her. Yes, I am. I am interrogating her because Josiah is like my nephew. And if anything happens to a hair on your freaking head, I will come and get you.

00:14:03 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 4:

Would he feel comfortable being alone? Yes. Because, okay, because Lucy absolutely refuses. Like, even when I know that I'm not going to be there when it's school time, that I'm not going to be there to meet the bus for whatever reason, I have to have somebody make sure to meet her. She will not be in my house without me.

00:14:22 - 00:14:35 | Speaker 6:

A piece of the dilemma or the dichotomy between the two households, because we do have split and share parenting with this biological mother, is that she is a quote-unquote single mother. She doesn't have, you know, she doesn't live with anyone else. So he stays at home sometimes alone.

00:14:35 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 5:

okay so he's used to it he's used to it do you think lucy's just scared of not doing it before because i remember being terrified the first time i was left home alone and being like something's gonna happen and then like the second time you're like yeah that's fine it's fine being home alone

00:14:49 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 7:

was so late i got the evidence uh that's gonna push this case over to them call cps lady i just got a call uh or just got a text message from a an anonymous tech

00:15:00 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 4:

that said that josiah does not have a cell phone he don't he has a he has literally two i does not have a cell phone he has two ipads you know how to face we face time all the time what happens if the wi-fi goes down here you go if it was close i agree with cherelle thank you cherelle for the

00:15:16 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 2:

time you would agree with cherelle i did i love it remember for hipster santa you must leave out

00:15:22 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 4:

coconut water and nuts this year merry christmas from mojo in the morning i know i say this all the time. But man, you sure get a lot for just $15 a month at Planet Fitness. And that's where Kevin, I go to work out. We love to watch TV when we're there. But one of the things that we like to do too is get a good sweat on. So why not get into Planet Fitness today, free fitness training and get a great workout going. Planetfitness.com. Back to Mojo in the morning. Zach's going to come in studio with us. Zach is the guy that literally never complains about anything. I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. He's a guy that he does so much and he expects so little. All he wants is his door dash. Just get him his freaking door dash. No, I want to be in the new studio. I know you do too. I do too. I'm fired up, Zach. Zach. Hey. Calm me down. I'm sorry. You bring me calm, Zach. You, what you do for us every single morning, how much you work for us. That's a good job, man. All right, so here's the story, though. You were ordering DoorDash. You think that you got robbed by a DoorDash delivery driver. And anybody that's a delivery driver, does DoorDash, Instacart, whatever, I want you to listen up. If you're this person, we're coming for you. What happened?

00:16:44 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so yesterday I ordered Chinese food with my sister, right? Oh, really? Love Chinese food. And before the order went through, literally the dasher texts me, and he's like, are you tipping in cash? And I'm like, this is weird. So I didn't respond. Literally about 16 minutes go by, and he's like, your order's taking a while. I'm like, no way. He then texts me again. He says, the restaurant is having issues. By that time, the restaurant calls me and says, hey, your order's actually ready. your dasher hasn't picked it up yet so then i'm like this guy is totally scamming me 100 yeah so i sent you guys a picture in the in the group chat okay i'm looking at it right now bro you're lying the restaurant called me and you aren't there i'm complaining to you right now so then i went to go pick up my own uh i'm a little nervous i don't know why you didn't do anything illegal getting people in trouble i don't know do you need a drink of

00:17:47 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 1:

That's whatever that is over there.

00:17:49 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I love you. Give this guy his DoorDash. Give him the liquor. Give him the liquor.

00:17:53 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 4:

Give him the liquor, yeah. He loves Chinese food. So the guy was trying to hose you. He was trying to hose me, yes. He was trying to get a tip, bro. What'd you say? Is this a common thing that I've never, I door-to-door-dash all the time. I've never had, I've had him come to my door, and then they come to my door standing there for a while looking like they want you to give them money. Right? Yeah. Bro, it was the cash tip thing. Is that kind of been like, yeah, of course, my man's would have brought it.

00:18:18 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what if I'm like, yeah, I have $5 in cash. Like, would you rather have? I don't know. It was just very weird, and I'm wondering if anyone has ever experienced this, because I want to know, like, how it works.

00:18:28 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 4:

Where are my DoorDash drivers at? 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Hey, where are the white women at? No, where are the DoorDash people at? Will you call us? 844-MOJO-LIVE. so this is the part that i think is so sketchy i i would as soon as i say are you tipping cash he already gets his tip in there he knows what his percentage tip is right i don't they or am i wrong do they not see that there's a tip already on there they have to because when i have a big

00:19:01 - 00:19:16 | Speaker 1:

tip somebody gets it right away and if i give a normal tip it takes like 40 minutes for them to assign a driver yeah really yes i thought you couldn't tell what the tip was until after it's delivered until after it gets delivered and then they know yeah i don't know but call us tanya the

00:19:16 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 4:

door dash driver's on with us hi tanya hi there how are you good tanya why did zach get scammed

00:19:23 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 2:

like this because people are greedy and just fools ignorant i mean we have the choice to pick the order if we want to if it's worth our time and money and if you don't want it then just don't Pick it. I see people harassing DoorDashers all the time, or DoorDashers harassing people. It's hilarious. I don't know why they're doing that. You can get kicked off the job and never get back in. I mean, it's just ridiculous. People steal food all the time. It's really, really bad and everything else.

00:19:54 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 4:

What's worse? Let me ask this to everybody. What would you rather? The DoorDash driver ate some of your French fries?

00:20:00 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 6:

or ate some of your food or that they held you hostage for a more cash tip. Don't touch my food.

00:20:08 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 4:

I'd rather some jerk eat my food.

00:20:12 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 6:

At least you got your food, right? Zach didn't even get his food. He didn't even get his dim sum. I didn't pick it up myself, dammit.

00:20:19 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 4:

I drop it off and call it a day so I can keep moving just like a waiter or a waitress. They need that cable to flip. You know what?

00:20:27 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 6:

You're a good American. Real quick, I've got to ask you a question.

00:20:30 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 4:

I tried my best.

00:20:31 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 6:

Zach, I want to know, what did you order? I love Chinese. Sesame chicken. Classy. You need some shrimp fried rice or vegetable fried? What? Did you get shrimp fried rice? Chicken. You only do chicken. Shrimp fried rice. Shrimp fried rice. Shrimp fried rice.

00:20:46 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 4:

That's it like that. Shrimp fried rice. Yeah.

00:20:48 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 6:

Shrimp fried rice. Thank you for the call. Oh, she said, say it like that. No, that was not us doing that. We're not going there.

00:20:55 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Bree?

00:20:57 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning.

00:20:58 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. What's going on?

00:21:00 - 00:21:42 | Speaker 2:

I am a DoorDash driver. I'm an Uber Eats driver, and I'm an Uber driver. So I get comments like this all the time. I would never personally do this, and I've only ordered from Uber Eats twice for a Chinese food, and I had to come to the door, and I tipped them. But DoorDash drivers, there's like, you know, you have groups on Facebook, and DoorDash drivers, they all have groups, and they always comment, and they always complain about, oh, this person didn't tip me or that's too far. DoorDash drivers are really picky and they really want the tips. Because even on DoorDash, you have it where the customer can pay you cash instead of doing it on the app. People really prefer that.

00:21:42 - 00:21:54 | Speaker 6:

That's a problem. Cash should be the optional thing because they did a great job. You can give them cash. The idea that they negotiate for that, to me, is sketchy. DoorDash should stop doing that.

00:21:55 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 2:

That was my first time experiencing that. It's like, oh, it comes up, they're going to give you cash, but the trick is once you get that cash, it deducts from all your future orders or all your future money. So it's like it's a good thing for a moment, but not really in the end.

00:22:12 - 00:22:17 | Speaker 6:

Zach should give this guy a bad rating. If you get a bad rating, do you get less DoorDash orders?

00:22:18 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 2:

It makes that person look bad, and they can't block their account. All they're going to do is investigate and block them out for 24, 48 hours. And even with Uber Eats, people will lie and say they didn't get their food, but they did just to get their money back from Uber Eats. And it's like, I took a picture. It's right there. And then meet at door. If you don't meet me at the door in less than five minutes, I'm going to message you. I'm leaving it here. And don't let it be in the apartment building. That's locked. And you didn't give me the call. Oh, that's the worst. Yeah, that's fair.

00:22:51 - 00:23:07 | Speaker 6:

Chris, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Our sweet, wonderful Zach didn't get his food. Please give man his food. Go ahead, Zach. Or whatever your name is, Chris. Hi, by the way.

00:23:07 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, the comment on the DoorDash is that sometimes you see the base fare and you only get like $3 or something, and you'll be going over 10 miles. So I got somewhat wise someone to ask, are you going to give me a tip? if there was no tip put on there

00:23:22 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 6:

to begin with. Where was the Chinese place? How far was it away from you, Zach? How long did it take you to get there? Well, now you guys are calling out how lazy I am. It was in Northville and I live in Novi. Oh, okay. It was less than like three to four miles. Yeah, that's not even that far. That's not that bad. Actually, how long did it take you to get there? Less than ten minutes to drive there? Yeah, ten minutes. So why would this guy ask for extra tip? That's an easy ride. Maybe he lived somewhere further away. That's not your fault. I know. What do you think, Chris? You're a DoorDash guy?

00:23:50 - 00:24:02 | Speaker 3:

But sometimes you have to come out of your way to drive. So you might be living in Canton, and you've got to drive to Novi to pick up the food. And then you've got to drive a little bit further than that. Then don't accept it.

00:24:02 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 1:

And that should be on the delivery service. Yeah. Like, that's why there should be a fee for them.

00:24:07 - 00:24:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it definitely should be. Yeah.

00:24:09 - 00:24:21 | Speaker 6:

It definitely should be. I want you to know I will never side with anybody but Zach. There's not a person on this show. So, Zach, do me a favor. Yeah. Sounds sad.

00:24:23 - 00:24:37 | Speaker 5:

I just wanted my food, guys. I had to get in my own car to go pick up my food. And then he asked for a cash tip. It's our Zach, by the way, guys.

00:24:37 - 00:24:38 | Speaker 6:

Celia, hello.

00:24:39 - 00:24:39 | Speaker 4:

Hello.

00:24:40 - 00:24:40 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

00:24:41 - 00:24:46 | Speaker 4:

First time, long time. Yes. What's her name?

00:24:46 - 00:24:47 | Speaker 6:

This is Celia.

00:24:47 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

Celia on the phone. Thanks, Kev. I've been waiting for that all my life. So, yeah, no, I'm totally with Zach on this. I used to use DoorDash all the time. They actually.

00:25:00 - 00:25:21 | Speaker 5:

have lost my business i will never use it again because on more than one instance ordering us from buffalo wild wing i have had my order stolen to the point where they post the photos saying it was delivered and it was on somebody's marble countertop who's marble counter is it the driver's

00:25:21 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 6:

marble countertop he got marble i'm gonna guess so they got nice countertops huh i guess so better than mine, that's for sure.

00:25:30 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 2:

They were eating good that night. By the way, that would piss me off. Has anybody ever looked at those pictures and you could see the reflection of the driver and the driver's got their zipper open? My window in the front window, the reflection, and you see the driver. I wanted to tell him back in a little comment thing, hey, your zipper's done. Bro, you love zooming in on pictures. I do. And if you do a picture and it's a live picture, I always want to know if you're talking smack. Alright, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:25:59 - 00:25:59 | Speaker 6:

Thank you.

00:26:00 - 00:27:19 | Speaker 2:

All right. Well, listen, Zach, we love you, buddy. You deserve your Chinese food, but you got it. Now your sister's going to never do DoorDash again because she's going to say, hey, Zach, go get the food. Zach, go get your lazy ass and go get your own food. Check out our Facebook page. Facebook.com slash Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning show. So I was going through Target, and I was getting a few things for Chelsea, and I'm going through the list of all the stuff that we needed, in target and i was in the female aisle getting some things okay because i'm a good husband right pat me on pat me on the back right and i witnessed something that made me go this could actually be an interesting topic i witnessed a woman on the phone and when i say woman i always say she seemed she seemed more girl than woman i i don't know but everybody likes to be called woman nowadays She was probably 20-something years old, and she was crying over the fact that it got very emotional with somebody on the phone that they didn't have the exact tampons that she likes. She was looking for Kotex Ultrathins, and the reason I know this is because... Oh, she was young. She was... Oh, wait, that's the pads.

00:27:19 - 00:27:20 | Speaker 1:

I was going to say, but never mind.

00:27:21 - 00:27:26 | Speaker 2:

No, go in. Are Kotex ultra-thins usually for younger people or something? Or what is it?

00:27:26 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 1:

Never mind. She hasn't had any children.

00:27:28 - 00:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. No, but I saw this and I thought to myself, what is the craziest thing that you cried over? Like, honestly, what is the one? Like, you cannot believe that you just started crying because I'm watching this girl and she's on the phone and she's probably on the phone with her mom, I'm thinking, or somebody, her friend. And she's like, we don't even have the Kotex Ultra Thins. And I'm going.

00:27:56 - 00:27:59 | Speaker 1:

She was just having a day. Is that it? Yeah.

00:27:59 - 00:28:06 | Speaker 2:

Does having your period make you emotional? Like, does it make you that way? I thought it always made you more crazy, like angry crazy.

00:28:06 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 1:

Your hormones are so out of whack during that time. And for some people, way more than others. Yeah.

00:28:12 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay. So here's the question. And I was going to throw this out there. What is the craziest thing that you've ever cried over? And nine times out of ten dealt with something else that was going on and not that. And how did you explain it to the people that were around you? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. What's going on, Amanda?

00:28:34 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 3:

I literally cried over a slice of bread before.

00:28:38 - 00:28:40 | Speaker 2:

Come on, really?

00:28:40 - 00:28:47 | Speaker 3:

What was the story there? i was hung over and i wanted to eat a sandwich and there was only one slice of bread

00:28:47 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 2:

was it the end piece was it the butt yeah the butt of it it totally was the nasty piece oh no and you were that hung over that it caused you to get emotional

00:29:01 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 3:

i was so hung over i cried and cried and went back to bed because i could not make a sandwich

00:29:07 - 00:29:16 | Speaker 2:

what's up jessica how you doing hi good morning you guys good morning i was so in my feelings i

00:29:16 - 00:29:39 | Speaker 4:

cried over a rotisserie chicken that i could not find in the refrigerator so i go to the refrigerator and i'm looking for this chicken and i'm like where is the chicken and i started bawling and my husband's like what is wrong feels like i can't find the chicken and he's like the chicken what are you talking about so i bought a chicken and it was like way in the back of the fridge but it should have been in the front and i was just so emotional oh that by the

00:29:39 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 2:

way your husband earned some stripes that day if he got to talk you off the ledge

00:29:43 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

what's up lauren hi hey there guys this isn't even that bad but i think i just had like a terrible day i don't even remember what happened and i was walking up my front steps and i just kind of a taqueria and a

00:30:00 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 5:

giant container of spicy salsa. I just thought it just fell. No, that is the worst. No, that sucks. I cried too. You can't have dry chips. I burst into tears and I got upstairs and my fiance was like, what's wrong? What's happened? I spilled my salsa.

00:30:19 - 00:30:21 | Speaker 1:

Did you clean it up or just leave it

00:30:21 - 00:30:31 | Speaker 5:

there? So, it was an apartment, so I felt the need to hose it away because otherwise there's You know, all these little chili things everywhere. Anyway.

00:30:32 - 00:30:39 | Speaker 1:

That's the worst. I don't know what I'd cry more over, having to clean it up or the fact that I didn't have any salsa for my dried chips.

00:30:39 - 00:30:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it sucked all around.

00:30:41 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 1:

I bet. That's a deserving thing to cry over. What's going on, Maddie?

00:30:47 - 00:31:02 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. I was crying over preparing a raw chicken and cleaning one for my family while I was making dinner at my time of the month. and I don't know, the emotions and how gross it felt to have my hand inside that chicken.

00:31:02 - 00:31:08 | Speaker 1:

Your hand is in the butthole, and while it's in that butthole, that emotion just got you.

00:31:09 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 6:

It really, it was so gross.

00:31:11 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that is the most unbelievable thing to know, that you cook a chicken for your entire family instead of just going out and buying one of those rotisserie ones in the deli section.

00:31:21 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 6:

I was 12 or 13. Parents weren't home. I just, I had to do it.

00:31:25 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 1:

12 or 13 and you were cooking? Right. That's amazing. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Chicken's probably nasty as hell. Yeah. 12 or 13. She didn't know what she was doing. You don't think so? Come on, doc. Would you eat your 12 or 13-year-old sister? No, no. We was on a George Foreman grill at 12 or 13.

00:31:45 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:31:47 - 00:31:48 | Speaker 1:

Those were great.

00:31:48 - 00:31:49 | Speaker 3:

What happened to those?

00:31:49 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 1:

Leah, what's up? They now become, you know what they're called now? They're called air fryers. That's what they're called now. Oh, that's right.

00:31:54 - 00:31:54 | Speaker 3:

You're right, you're right.

00:31:54 - 00:31:55 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Leah?

00:31:55 - 00:32:29 | Speaker 4:

hello hi leah so i was pregnant and i had made dinner for my husband and i it was like sloppy joe's and the next day so i made it for the next day and the next day my husband was reheating it right just for a dinner and he was talking to his mom and she must have asked what he was doing and and he said he was making dinner, and I burst into tears so loud. And he was like, what is going on? I'm like, you didn't make dinner. You're just reheating dinner.

00:32:35 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 1:

You will not, I will not give him credit. Oh, that's great. By the way, you started this thing off, and I'm like going, there's no way this lady cries. She sounds like she's a tough one, man. Oh, no, I cried. Oh, that's awesome. Oh, my God. Caitlin, what did you cry over?

00:32:54 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 3:

So I, first time, long time.

00:32:57 - 00:32:57 | Unknown:

Hey!

00:32:58 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 3:

It was a mess! So I recently found out that in Australia, one of the gay penguins who raised a little chick together died. No! I was bawling my eyes out. My husband was like, are you okay? I was like, no, I'm not. Wait a second. Yeah, I read about that.

00:33:22 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 1:

How did they know that the penguin was gay?

00:33:25 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 3:

Because they were hooking up.

00:33:26 - 00:33:26 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:33:27 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. They raised a baby together.

00:33:29 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 1:

Wait, animals can be gay? Yes, they can. I didn't know that. It was happy feet.

00:33:35 - 00:33:36 | Speaker 3:

My dog Charlie's gay.

00:33:36 - 00:33:36 | Speaker 1:

Really?

00:33:37 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he humps.

00:33:39 - 00:33:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he humps. All white dogs. I think dogs are... I'm telling you. I think they're bi. He's happy about it. I think dogs... Seriously.

00:33:46 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 3:

i'm telling you i do i think the best thing you've ever said i think that they yeah

00:33:58 - 00:34:05 | Speaker 1:

yeah all right well thank you for the call and i'm sorry to hear about the gay penguin

00:34:05 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 2:

lena what did you cry over hello hi hey oh me it's my turn um first time long time all right so i was on my honeymoon we were in las vegas and my new husband and i so his money is my money now and vice versa uh we separated he was playing some crap i was playing the blackjack next thing i know i go to find him and i'm myself now i'm a little drunky drunk and uh find him and hear all those hooting and hollering and high fives and he's winning and he's won a couple grand and so we leave the casino to go have a nice dinner and I start to cry because he won and I didn't.

00:34:53 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 1:

You wanted that poor bastard to go home broke, didn't you?

00:34:57 - 00:34:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, I wanted to be the winner.

00:34:58 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yes. Okay. Well, remember, what's his is yours, and what's yours is yours, right?

00:35:05 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 2:

Not anymore.

00:35:06 - 00:35:07 | Speaker 3:

What's mine is mine.

00:35:07 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, there you go. All right. By the way, did you know that animals are all gay? Or a pound. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:35:23 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

00:35:26 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 1:

Live. All righty. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. It's good to have you guys here with us. Happy December. Wow. Look at that. December the 2nd, 2024. On this day, the Lord has made. Let us give joy, rejoice and be, let us, I don't know. What is it? Rejoice and be glad. Yeah, there's something like that. Come on, man. Let's do it. We're going to do Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. Lydia, is everybody all set? Because this is our first Christmas wish, doing it from new studios. It's our first Christmas wish of this year. We've got to make sure that we're all in positions and ready to go. Because I want to make sure this one's the best ever. And I know Lydia pours her heart and soul into this thing. Are we all set?

00:36:09 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:36:09 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 1:

We are all set? You, by the way, give it up for Lydia. Yeah. Yes, Lydia. Thank you. She has. Hold on. There you go. Yes. I'll give her the big applause. She pours herself into breaking and entering Christmas every year. That's right. And her mom.

00:36:23 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 2:

Her whole family gets involved.

00:36:25 - 00:36:38 | Speaker 1:

Well, and I'm going to say this, that I don't know the facts on this one here, but if I am at this point, right, we have more letters right now at this point than we did all of last year.

00:36:38 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Since I've started doing it, this is the most I've ever seen.

00:36:42 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 1:

And it's mojoswish.org. You can send us a letter. That does not mean that your wish is not going to be granted. You would not believe how many people have gotten in touch with us and said, hey, I want to make a donation. Lydia, what was the mortgage company that called out of the blue and said that they wanted to make a donation to us?

00:36:57 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 2:

That was Swift Home Loans owned by Andy Newman.

00:37:01 - 00:37:01 | Speaker 1:

Andy.

00:37:02 - 00:37:02 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

00:37:03 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I know he's going to come in studio, right, and do like a big check presentation.

00:37:07 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, next week.

00:37:07 - 00:37:24 | Speaker 1:

Can we just say how much he gave just because I was blown away by this? I've heard Andy's commercials on the radio and stuff, and I've gotten a chance over the years to hear about him. I've never gotten a chance to personally know him until this. How much money do they donate?

00:37:24 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 2:

$50,000. What? Are you kidding me?

00:37:27 - 00:37:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man.

00:37:28 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing. Wait, is that our biggest donation to date so far this year?

00:37:32 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 1:

I believe so. Yeah. Wow. Isn't that crazy? Thank you. Yeah. And more keep coming in. And I'm going to say this to you. The $50,000 donations are fantastic. But literally when little kids call us up or their parents call us up and say that my son has been saving money up and he wants to donate to a charity he's been like doing all kinds of like returnable donations and stuff like that and we get a kid that will call us up and say that he's got like seven dollars and 29 cents or something like that i will say why could you not get seven dollars and 50 cents like let's no i will say that's that's awesome it's amazing it's just unbelievable that we get uh we get people that care that much and they're caring about you and they're caring about all of us to make sure that we all have a nice Christmas. All right, KP's hosting this year out on the streets. KP, you've got to be quiet when you're out there. I'm sorry, so I've got to be quiet, too. Hi, KP.

00:38:25 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 3:

Hi, guys. How are we? What are we doing? Just waiting?

00:38:28 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, we're going to get going. Are you in position? Are you ready to go?

00:38:31 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 3:

We are. We have about 30 people standing outside of this house right now, and all of these people have been touched by Shannon. and she's been a nurse for over 15 years.

00:38:43 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 1:

Wow. And wait, so you were worried this morning. You're like, the promo staff, they only scheduled one promo person, Alyssa, to be there with you. And we were worried about this. You know what? God does amazing things. He brought 30 people there to be there for today.

00:38:58 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 3:

Yes. All right. We're very much supported right now.

00:39:01 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 1:

Annie, can we say hi to Annie real quick? Yes. Who wrote the letter? Annie. Hey, Annie. Hi, Mojo. I got to tell you, Annie, I'm going to cry just hearing you right now, your voice.

00:39:13 - 00:39:14 | Speaker 3:

You're going to make me cry.

00:39:15 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 1:

Annie, how are you feeling today? Are you excited about what we're about to do for Shannon?

00:39:19 - 00:39:22 | Speaker 3:

I'm super excited. I'm still shocked that this is happening.

00:39:22 - 00:39:42 | Speaker 1:

All right, so here's what I want you guys to do. A lot of times people don't answer phones from out of blocked areas and all that stuff. We're going to dial them up. So we're going to dial home and we're going to dial Shannon and hope that Shannon picks up the phone. Who potentially else could be picking up the phone? Could it be one of the kids picking up the phone?

00:39:42 - 00:39:44 | Speaker 3:

It could be her husband as well, Justin.

00:39:44 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Okay, all right. So here we go. And we're on Facebook Live, by the way, too, for all who want to tune in and check it out with us. Sounds good. Mojo in the morning, Facebook Live. All right, here we go. Lydia is going to be making a telephone call. KP, mute your phone just for one second. I might have you unmuted.

00:40:00 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 3:

in just a little bit, but we're going to call and see if Shannon will answer this early in the morning. Here we go. Hello? Hi, is this Shannon? This is? Hi, Shannon. It's Mojo from Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:40:18 - 00:40:18 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:40:19 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

00:40:20 - 00:40:26 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Well, I hate to call you this early in the morning, but you sound wide awake, and I'm happy about that.

00:40:26 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, no, I'm wide awake.

00:40:29 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 3:

You got a lot of stuff to get to today, I'm sure. And we've heard about you from not just one source, but many sources who tell us that you are an amazing person. And actually, one of those people wrote a letter that we're going to have them read to you for our Mojo in the Morning Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish Program.

00:40:49 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:40:50 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 3:

Take a listen to this. Listen to this love that they have for you.

00:40:54 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 1:

Dear Mojo in the Morning, my name is Annie. In this holiday season, I'd like to introduce you to Shannon Hasker, a local labor and delivery nurse and faculty instructor at Henry Ford College. Shannon is a mom to two beautiful daughters, 8-year-old Kendall and 11-year-old Brooklyn, a loving partner to her husband, a marathon runner, and an incredible mentor for many new nurses. But most importantly, she is a fighter. On August 28th, Shannon had a colonoscopy that found a mast in her colon. Ultimately, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, but has unfortunately spread to her liver, lungs, and abdominal cavity. Throughout her fight, she is still working as a professor and delivering bundles of drawers to parents, while only recently being delivered the worst news of her own life. She is receiving treatment and going to fight this. She will win this fight. We all need her beautiful light and smile in our lives. Mojo, please bring the holiday miracle to behalf of the family this year. Sincerely, Annie.

00:41:54 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Great job, Annie.

00:41:58 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Annie.

00:42:01 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 3:

That letter is short and sweet and right to the point, and it says it all. It says that you are a person who has been there for so many people, and now it's time for all of us to be there for you.

00:42:15 - 00:42:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. And you bring beautiful and happy news to so many people. and we're about to bring some beautiful and happiness to you, okay?

00:42:30 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 3:

With your diet. Yeah. Hello? That's the knock of a lot of people. I hope you're okay with this.

00:42:39 - 00:42:54 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm falling. I have a mask. I have a mask. This is your crew.

00:42:56 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, this is everybody, and there's 30-plus people that want you to know that you're going to win this fight, and they want to make sure that this Christmas is one less thing that you have to worry about, so they want to provide you with your Christmas.

00:43:11 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I wasn't supposed to wear pajamas for their pair of bags.

00:43:25 - 00:43:34 | Speaker 2:

Girl, you look so cute. Your curls are perfect. I know. You do look beautiful. And I can see the girls in there already for school. Yeah. Yeah.

00:43:35 - 00:43:49 | Speaker 1:

Is this your husband, Justin? Yeah, this is my husband. This is my daughter, Brooklyn. And where's Ken Brooklyn? Oh, my God, this is amazing. I am so grateful for all of you. You're all amazing.

00:43:50 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 2:

Can I just say something for people who aren't on the live? There are so many people there.

00:43:55 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 3:

There are.

00:43:56 - 00:44:00 | Speaker 2:

And this just goes to show, if you, Downriver shows up for Downriver.

00:44:00 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 3:

It does.

00:44:01 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 2:

And that is our first wish of this year.

00:44:05 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you are a fighter. We can see it in just looking at your family and looking at the way that they look at you. And you have been there for so many people, both as a nurse, but also a professor. Where are you a professor at?

00:44:22 - 00:44:23 | Speaker 1:

At Henry Ford College in Dearborn.

00:44:23 - 00:44:33 | Speaker 3:

So you're modeling for more potential nurses, right? More potential people to go in and save lives.

00:44:35 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 1:

That's my hope.

00:44:35 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

shannon we want you to know that everybody in our breaking entering christmas wish family and i'm not talking about just the 30 plus people there i'm talking about the millions of people that are listening to this all over the world are praying for you and we know that if there was ever a fighter that was going to fight and beat the odds that is you and there are no odds that

00:45:27 - 00:45:42 | Speaker 1:

But Christmas was one of those things where it was like, uh-oh, it was coming up on us so fast with all the stuff you've got going on. So don't worry. We took care of everything that Brooklyn and Kendall are going to need for Christmas. We made sure that Santa Claus is arriving early for them this year.

00:45:44 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 5:

She's hugging all of her family and friends right now. All the hugs, TV, everything that was on their list, we took care of. And Dad's list, too, by the way.

00:45:54 - 00:46:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God, you guys are so much. Both of them have a pair of Uggs. You've got a new iPad. I mean, this list is long. Thank you so much.

00:46:05 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 1:

Justin.

00:46:05 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 3:

I can't even describe the feeling I'm having right now. I'm so sorry. I can't speak.

00:46:12 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 1:

That special guy in your life, Justin, is a strong guy, but I can see that he's a little teared up, too, huh?

00:46:20 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, this is amazing.

00:46:26 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, we heard through Annie and through all of your coworkers, we heard that there was a lot of things that you wanted to do with your family. And we made sure that all of those things were going to be possible.

00:46:41 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we know that you're a huge fan of Elevation Worship. And they're coming to town in a couple of months. And you are going to be there front and center. Okay? Your whole family is going to be there with you. And we also heard that you wanted some family photos taken. So a good friend of mine, her name is Andrea Papadopoulos from A Poppy Photography, is going to do a whole family photo shoot so that you can have those family photos that you've been wanting. Oh, thank you. And we have massage and spa treatments for you. I mean, just look around. That's all for you.

00:47:18 - 00:47:20 | Speaker 4:

We're going to get you a hydrofacial, all right?

00:47:20 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 5:

she's not saying you need it no she's just saying it's lovely yeah kp how's how's annie doing how's

00:47:27 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 1:

how's annie through this whole thing you doing okay you said in the letter everything that we're seeing in person by going into the home this morning and for those that aren't watching it and can't see what what this beautiful person has done will you tell everybody about shannon and how much love and life she gives to so many people.

00:47:53 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 2:

For me personally, I'll say that Shannon is the reason that I am a nurse today. And she's the one who trained me from becoming a student to becoming a nurse. And I literally follow in her footsteps. It's a hard shoe to fill, but I'm trying my best. It's amazing.

00:48:11 - 00:48:17 | Speaker 1:

Well, Shannon, I want you to know that all of this is just a taste of what you got.

00:48:17 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 5:

you're now part of our family forever that means you're stuck with us you're stuck with us okay

00:48:22 - 00:48:41 | Speaker 1:

so sorry about that forever forever so so when you're ringing bells to celebrate and you are there with the kids and always there with them we want you to know that we're always there for you too you never ever don't have us in your life thank you so much you guys i appreciate it i'm so

00:48:41 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm in so much shock right now, I can't even put this into words. But thank you. Thank you all. You've all been such a huge part of my life, even before all this, but have been such a huge support, and it's been everything that I've needed to get through even these past couple months, but I know to get through everything else that's to come. And I'm grateful for all of you.

00:49:05 - 00:49:22 | Speaker 1:

Everybody, keep Shannon and her family in your prayers. God bless you. Merry Christmas. from Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish and Mojo in the Morning. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. You're home of the War of the Roses, the Dirty on the 30, and the second date update. Shannon wants to talk about smells.

00:49:23 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 5:

Do you guys, I feel like if I said, like, the name of one of your childhood friends, Mojo, like Brad Yeager.

00:49:30 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:49:30 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 5:

You could instantly remember what his house smelled like when you went over there to play.

00:49:34 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 1:

Ragu. It smelled like Italian. His mom used to make Like, his mom used to make, she called it gravy, but it was spaghetti sauce.

00:49:43 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 5:

And that smell, like, that was his house smell. Everybody's house has a smell. Am I right here or am I right here? You are so self-conscious about your apartment smell. Yes. When my, anybody I'm actually close with comes over, the first thing.

00:50:00 - 00:50:15 | Speaker 2:

i ask when they walk in the door is does it smell okay in here because i'm worried when i don't have somebody who i'm super close with if they come over like does it smell like i don't know what dog in here you know what i mean like always ask me that when i come over every time i just

00:50:15 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 3:

want to make sure it smells okay i spend way too much money on candles and specific like puras creating the smell in my house to make sure that it smells good and has a very specific smell and it's funny because sometimes like my friend Ashley will come over to my house and then she'll go home she lives right down the street and her son Nash will be like you were at Miss Shannon's house weren't you I can smell her and I love that but this I thought about this topic because um my mom is still in the process of moving this is the longest process ever and so her new house doesn't have anything in it yet and so I I dropped off a bunch of stuff the day before yesterday and I had the kids with me it was their first time seeing the house and we walk in and Smith's like it smells nasty in here and i said well it doesn't smell nasty it's just not a smell that you're used to because it still smells like the family that used to live there and so we ended up going to the mall and going to bath and body works and buying wallflowers because my mom always has specific wallflowers plugged in so we're hoping the house will smell more like her and more like home for her when she moves in do you guys it's a thing do you guys remember the neighbor whose

00:51:28 - 00:51:57 | Speaker 4:

house smelled like crap yes ours was the capanowski's it smelled it it had a like a like a constant fart smell in there and i remember as kids i would always have them come to our house instead of us going to their house because it always smelled so bad yeah and i don't know what it was it was like a crime did you ever get into somebody's car and their car smells like This is scary, dog.

00:51:57 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 3:

Car, same thing.

00:51:58 - 00:51:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man.

00:51:58 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 3:

I can walk into somebody's house and tell right away if they have a cat. Yeah. I don't know what it is. There is this very distinct smell, and I can smell it.

00:52:06 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was going to say, it wasn't even a bad smell, but we had a neighbor's house that always smelled like cat litter. Not even dirty cat litter. Just cat litter. It's a smell. And it's like a clay, weird, dusty smell. And cat pee. And I grew up with cats. I love cats. But now, I didn't even smell like pee. It's just, cat litter itself smells weird.

00:52:22 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 5:

I pray to God, y'all never come to my house.

00:52:25 - 00:52:29 | Speaker 3:

What is your house musk? What's the scent?

00:52:29 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 5:

I don't know. When I say we used to do an amazing job of keeping those little Glade plug-ins that permeated a wonderful scent in our home. But I don't think we've been keeping up with it like that. And I don't know. They call it nose blonde. I'm not sure what it smells like. Because you get so used to it that it doesn't have a scent. It's just everyday life.

00:52:50 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 4:

Does your house smell like boo-boo? Because you got a baby?

00:52:54 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 5:

No, I mean, when I take doodos, it depends on which bathroom I use. If I use our bathroom, I don't really smell it until I walk out of the bathroom and then I come back in. And I'm like, oh, boy. And then I grab our eucalyptus spray and I hit it a couple times with that. So then it smells like poop and eucalyptus. Yeah, but you shut the door and cut the little air thing on and try to suck it out.

00:53:14 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 4:

Really? Does that air thing really suck it out? Yeah.

00:53:17 - 00:53:20 | Speaker 5:

You need the fan? If you use it long enough.

00:53:20 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 4:

When we moved into our house, we realized whoever built our house screwed up and that little air thing would suck it out of the bathroom and put it right into the bedroom. And we'd actually go somewhere.

00:53:31 - 00:53:35 | Speaker 5:

Short thing, that's how I feel about public restrooms that use the hand air dryer.

00:53:35 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:53:36 - 00:53:40 | Speaker 5:

I think it sucks it from the air that's in the bathroom and just puts it on your hands.

00:53:40 - 00:53:59 | Speaker 4:

All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Question. I'm just going to throw this out there. If you had to rank the smells of people's homes that work on the show, whose house would be the best smelling and whose house would be the worst smelling house out of everybody here that's on the show?

00:53:59 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 5:

I know I'm coming here last.

00:54:01 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 4:

Come on.

00:54:02 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 2:

You don't even shower regularly.

00:54:03 - 00:54:06 | Speaker 5:

Listen, this week, I shower every day.

00:54:06 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. You should have seen the crowd.

00:54:11 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 4:

Way to go.

00:54:12 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 3:

A lot of you.

00:54:13 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. That is so good. What's up, Initial A? Hi, your voice is disguised. You're going to call somebody out?

00:54:19 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I know someone who actually lets their dogs and cats and basically all the animals just use the bathroom in their house and it doesn't get cleaned.

00:54:29 - 00:54:33 | Speaker 4:

Bathroom in their house? Like not the bathroom, but like just go to the bathroom in their house?

00:54:33 - 00:54:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, like pee and poop all in the house.

00:54:36 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 4:

Who's this person? Go ahead, say who they are.

00:54:39 - 00:54:39 | Speaker 1:

Nope.

00:54:40 - 00:54:43 | Speaker 4:

No, are they a relative? Are they a friend? What are they?

00:54:43 - 00:54:44 | Speaker 1:

A friend, yeah.

00:54:44 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 4:

They're a friend. Squatters. Yeah. Whose house do you think smells the worst on our show?

00:54:51 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 1:

Oh, gosh. I don't know. I have no idea. I feel like everyone's super clean.

00:54:59 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

Pick somebody.

00:55:00 - 00:55:02 | Speaker 2:

Come on, there's got to be one that's got a smelly house.

00:55:07 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 5:

Just because you're asking, I'll say you, Mojo. Thank you.

00:55:11 - 00:55:24 | Speaker 2:

Thank you. Mojo's house actually always smells really good because of Chelsea. Thank God for Chelsea, exactly. You know what the worst smell is to me? A dirty sponge. Oh, I have to throw... Did you say that?

00:55:24 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 4:

I think of...

00:55:25 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 2:

You know what it is?

00:55:25 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 4:

It's scrub daddies.

00:55:26 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 2:

Keely, what's going on? Are those good?

00:55:28 - 00:55:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

00:55:28 - 00:55:33 | Speaker 2:

keely what's going on it's mojo in the morning hey what's going on good morning good morning

00:55:33 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 7:

what's happening it's going i'm actually going into work right now um so i actually used to hang out with a friend of mine uh when we were kids and it didn't hit me until i was an adult and well actually it didn't hit me until i moved to michigan when it was legal um but apparently her parents were chronic pot smokers and it didn't i guess every time i would go over there it it kind of hit me like a rock and it smelled like it smelled like skunk all the time and it never dawned on me until I moved here in Michigan and I smelled it and I'm like, is that weed? And my mom goes, yeah, that's weed. I'm like, oh, I guess I think one of my friends and her parents used to smoke weed. Isn't it funny?

00:56:15 - 00:56:17 | Speaker 2:

It always does smell like skunk.

00:56:17 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 4:

But I love that smell. You do? Oh, I hate it. Oh, patchouli's and all those sorts of like woodsy earthy, like herbals. I love the smell of weed.

00:56:27 - 00:56:41 | Speaker 2:

Man, I'll tell you what. You can hang out with all the misfits then. Rambo. Rambo is, by the way, I told Lydia, I said, if Rambo is coming to the rooftop party, he's got to not be as baked as he was at the last party. Why not?

00:56:41 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 8:

Is he coming?

00:56:42 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 2:

He hugged my ass, and I smelled like that forever. And this is the Godfrey, and we were just at the Cambria, and you know what? I don't want them to think that that's what our listeners all just smell like.

00:56:52 - 00:56:57 | Speaker 8:

Here's the good thing. It's a rooftop. So we're outside, so it's going to be much more airy.

00:56:57 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 2:

We could have been on Millennium Force at Cedar Point. I would have smelled him still. Hot box. What's going on? How are you doing, Kirsten?

00:57:07 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

00:57:08 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, what's up?

00:57:10 - 00:57:18 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I texted in because I had a childhood friend, which I'm first-time caller for a long time. Hey, there you are. Kirsten's on the phone.

00:57:18 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for calling.

00:57:20 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, thank you. But I had a friend growing up, even when I was really little, who had ferrets at her house, and the smell was so pungent, and it was horrible. And even as a five, six-year-old, I hated going to her house because it smelled so good. Ferrets. Oh, yeah.

00:57:35 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 2:

Ferrets and rabbits. Do you ever have a friend that had a rabbit? Oh.

00:57:40 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 4:

There's a smell. You can smell it. And I love ferrets. I love them so much, and I won't get one because of how they smell.

00:57:46 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 2:

Who says this?

00:57:47 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 4:

They're so funny. I know. Have you ever hung out with a ferret?

00:57:51 - 00:58:03 | Speaker 3:

I grew up with a girl who had three bears at their house. They're, like, really fun. I bet her house was terrible. It did, and that's why I won't get one. Literally, I never had anybody else.

00:58:03 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 2:

I was hanging out with one the other day. It was amazing. I thought you were a good friend.

00:58:06 - 00:58:08 | Speaker 3:

Me and the show, we were chilling. Kick it back, relaxing.

00:58:08 - 00:58:10 | Speaker 2:

Nikki, Nikki, what's up?

00:58:11 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 6:

Morning. How are you guys? Good morning. Good morning. What's going on? Well, the smell I can't see in walking into a house is poker. because people don't realize how bad it really smells. Yeah.

00:58:23 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:58:23 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 6:

But I think Shannon's house is probably the best townhouse.

00:58:29 - 00:58:29 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:58:29 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 6:

Oh, thank you. No. Yes. No. And I think heaven's is probably the worst just because that's enough of a personal that we're all speaking. Not enough of a personal, but, you know, your sour habits.

00:58:43 - 00:58:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Thanks, Nikki.

00:58:44 - 00:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Nikki, Nikki. If Shannon's house smells the best, It's because of my candles that she steals when she comes over.

00:58:53 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 2:

It's true. It is true. Hold on. Look at this. Rambo's on the phone. What's up? What's going on, Rambo? Smoke me, Debbie, Debbie. Rolling to me. What's going on, y'all?

00:59:07 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 8:

Man, you haven't had anything yet today.

00:59:09 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 2:

Rambo, I don't know if I can get you an invite to the rooftop party if you smell the way that you did at our hotel hookup party.

00:59:18 - 00:59:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, we're going to be outside. You ain't going to know who's smelling it.

00:59:20 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 2:

No, no. I could smell you a mile away, my friend. Rambo, just do me a favor, will you? I don't mind if you get high, but can you do edibles that day?

00:59:30 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 1:

I don't think you want me to do an edible. I'm going to be able to feel my face, my hands.

00:59:35 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 2:

Really? Wade, so edibles make you crazy?

00:59:40 - 00:59:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a little bit different. You swallowing THC than whatever, just smoking it.

00:59:45 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 4:

How much are you taking when you're taking an edible?

00:59:48 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Just some gummies, I guess, but it's too much. I get stuck, and I'll be in the same spot in about 15 minutes and don't know why I'm there. Wow.

01:00:00 - 01:00:40 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I will say this about you. I love you. You're very fun. You're a great-looking guy, but you smell like the worst skunk I have ever smelled in my life. It's not a skunk. It's weed. I know, but it smells like a worst skunk. Oh, God. Jeez. And the last time you hugged me, my wife made me take off my clothes in the garage. The last time I had that happen to me, I was at Churchill's smoking cigars. Oh, man. My bad, man. Oh, man. No, I love you. We'll figure it out. We'll figure it out. We're going to have you propel off the side of the building because I don't want to get the elevator all smelly. Hold on one second. Hold on one second. Put them into the party if you want to, Lydia.

01:00:41 - 01:00:41 | Unknown:

Don't.

01:00:44 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 4:

Justin, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. What's up?

01:00:47 - 01:00:48 | Speaker 2:

Hi, it's Justin.

01:00:48 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Justin.

01:00:50 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 2:

No kidding. Hey, first time in a long time. Hey. Yes. Thanks, Justin. Justin's on the phone. It's Justin, everybody.

01:00:56 - 01:00:57 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? What are you calling for?

01:00:58 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 2:

So, I think Lydia's house would smell the best because she still lives with her mom. I feel like they'd have really good home cooking. Okay. But the worst would be Megan. Unfortunately, the patchouli smells just not good. I would have thought that originally, too. Okay. That is a love-hate smell. What's that?

01:01:14 - 01:01:33 | Speaker 5:

That's fair. That's fair. But I'm not promoted, but I'm going to tell you what I use. Boy Smells has a line of Kush candles. Kush? Really, really, really good. And I will also tell you, because a lot of people are asking in the text, Yankee has those wood wicks. Cumidor. Cumidor. Rambo. It sounds random, but it smells so good.

01:01:33 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 4:

Megan has a Kush candle. Do you have a Kush candle at home?

01:01:37 - 01:01:39 | Speaker 3:

No, she's making me jealous, man.

01:01:40 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 4:

Cashmere Kush is Lego, too. You can't smoke it, though.

01:01:44 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 3:

Hold on. Air freshener scent for the car. It smells like weed, but I just thought I was dreaming. They don't eat those type of things.

01:01:51 - 01:01:54 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Bree wants to defend Rambo. What's up, Bree?

01:01:54 - 01:02:20 | Speaker 1:

hi um i smoke a lot of weed i have four kids so it's the only way i can uh manage life um there is nothing wrong with the smell of it i mean you have not smelled rambo it smells good exactly i mean and on top of it though um what's wrong with the smellers or smellers. See, she's high.

01:02:21 - 01:02:23 | Speaker 4:

She's so high. You're high right now.

01:02:23 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 1:

Exactly, yeah.

01:02:24 - 01:02:33 | Speaker 4:

I know you are. She needs a good night out. She needs to come to the gaffery. Wait, hold on a second. Hold on. Stephanie is with us right now. Stephanie, what did you smell?

01:02:35 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 1:

So, I used to work for a detox rehab facility and I had to go pick up a client for detox and the house smelled like meth. Meth? I wouldn't even know what that

01:02:47 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 5:

smells like. What is it smelling? Right, what is that?

01:02:50 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 1:

Smells like really bad, like almost like cat urine, ammonia mixed with like an acetone smell. Oh my God.

01:02:58 - 01:03:04 | Speaker 4:

I never understood why people do meth. It just, oh, especially if it starts off smelling that way.

01:03:05 - 01:03:09 | Speaker 3:

How do you know a meth? I lived in the meth bathroom of America. Just cooking meth.

01:03:10 - 01:03:11 | Speaker 4:

No, she works at a detox.

01:03:12 - 01:03:13 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so she has to pick up her clients.

01:03:13 - 01:03:16 | Speaker 4:

She had to pick up some guy that was a meth guy.

01:03:17 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 1:

Do it smell worse than Kevin Fart?

01:03:24 - 01:03:25 | Speaker 3:

Did y'all smell yesterday in the booth?

01:03:25 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 4:

Hey, look, look, Rambo, Rambo, Rambo. I'm glad you brought that up. Everyone be honest. Could you smell my farts?

01:03:32 - 01:03:33 | Speaker 5:

No, you couldn't.

01:03:33 - 01:03:33 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:03:34 - 01:03:34 | Speaker 4:

You couldn't.

01:03:34 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, why would I put that throwing up emoji face on there? Because they be trying to play me, bro.

01:03:38 - 01:03:46 | Speaker 4:

They be trying to play me. Kevin's fart smells like frijitos or whatever. Frijitos. It's like Twisted Tea today.

01:03:47 - 01:03:52 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Can we have one to see it every day?

01:03:53 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 4:

I need another one. Let me have yours. Mojo in the morning. The smell of this around you. Christmas is coming because I see a lot of ho-ho-hos at the mall, mall, mall. This is Mojo in the morning. All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Megan accidentally bought diapers. How do you accidentally buy diapers?

01:04:17 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, you go to the store, and you're buying feminine products, and you think that you're buying, like, feminine underwear. Is that how you would properly describe it? Yeah. What's feminine underwear? I've never seen that. Well, like a mesh undies. Well, no. Because I stole every single one of those that I had in my labor and delivery room from Beaumont Railroad. So, well, oh, then yes. Yo, I'm both spoiling my topic. Wait, what do you mean? I was building up to the diaper part. I went out yesterday and I was trying to buy those like things underwear, but they made them disposable and they were next to all of like the tampons and stuff. And so I was like, I need something to sleep in.

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 4:

I think I want to give these a try. They look just like black underwear on the package. And yeah, I got home and I opened up the package and essentially they were diapers. I accidentally bought adult diapers.

01:05:10 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so that's not what I'm talking about then.

01:05:11 - 01:05:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:05:12 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 3:

That's something totally different.

01:05:13 - 01:05:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well then I don't know. Yeah, I accidentally bought adult diapers.

01:05:17 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 5:

What are, explain to me why you need to, what's the...

01:05:22 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 3:

The sleep in. Wait, what in the hell did you buy? Now I'm Googling. They were like... Like what's the brand? I have the Thinks undies. You actually told me to get those. And those are amazing, but they're expensive.

01:05:33 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 4:

They were always disposable period underwear.

01:05:37 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay.

01:05:38 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 4:

But on the package. Wait, I did not know that they made that. Right, but on the package, right, they look like.

01:05:43 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 3:

They look cute.

01:05:44 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 4:

They look like cute little boy shorts. Plain black underwear. That's what they look like. Let me see.

01:05:47 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 5:

Let me see.

01:05:47 - 01:05:50 | Speaker 4:

I pulled them out. Just plain black underwear. That's what the package looks like.

01:05:50 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, those look like some regular drugs.

01:05:52 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 4:

Right. I opened it up, and they were beige diapers. Tell me. how this company robbed me of my money because last night i put the you i opened the package i can't return them at this point i thought they were going to be underwear i open the package i pull out a diaper and i go well i have to put it on i have to i have to do this this is something that i cannot return and i must know what this is like but and was it nice i put them on and i thought i could sleep confidently see and i took them off and i put on regular underwear and said I am not at a point in my life where I am, like, this is not an acceptable thing to do. I cannot sleep in a diaper. I couldn't do it. And I took the brand new diaper off, and I threw that bad boy away because I just can't do it.

01:06:41 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 5:

Could you do me a favor? Will you bring one in or two in? Yes. I would love to see what it would be like to sleep in a diaper and then actually duty myself or pay myself. I would just like to not have to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I would just be like, but I don't know if you're, would you just do it knowing you're doing it or not knowing you're doing it? And then would you not know that you didn't have the diaper on the next time that you actually had to go? Like, could you sense yourself? I mean, I get why you're needing what you need. Yeah. But I, but can you imagine just being a person that all of a sudden just randomly is like, ah, I'm going to sleep with a diaper on it. No, I couldn't imagine that at all.

01:07:18 - 01:07:25 | Speaker 3:

But honestly, I get why you want it. Like that would solve, that would solve a lot of issues to just have that. Wouldn't it?

01:07:25 - 01:07:31 | Speaker 4:

But I'm not, no. I don't know. I am 30. I am not sleeping in a diaper.

01:07:31 - 01:07:33 | Speaker 5:

Ryan, what's up? What do you want to say to Megan?

01:07:34 - 01:08:09 | Speaker 1:

Those are the only things that I use. They're the best. I don't care. The crazy thing is that I can even put them on with my jeans and you will never know. Really? Here's the thing. No. Wait. So, listen, my husband, I started wearing them after we had our second child. My husband does refer to them as my diaper. And I have the black ones by always. I don't have the beige ones. Mine are black. I have all my friends wearing them now, too. Really? No, I have never seen these.

01:08:09 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 4:

This package advertised them as black.

01:08:14 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I was pissed.

01:08:16 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 1:

They got you there.

01:08:17 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 5:

Are you thinking, Ryan, are you thinking that Megan needs to embrace the diaper?

01:08:23 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. Did you get the ones that are in the box, like in the cardboard box, or the ones that are in the pack, like the plastic? The plastic. You got to get the box. The box was double the price, babe. I'm broke. Listen, baby. You hear these kids in my car. I'm broke.

01:08:46 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Thanks for the call. What's up, Samantha? Hi.

01:08:50 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I started using them after surgery, and they are amazing. Like the last caller said, you have to buy the box, though. You cannot buy the bag.

01:08:59 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 4:

You guys, there were five pairs that came in the box. There were, like, 20 pairs that came in the bag, and they were half the price. I cannot do that.

01:09:09 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 5:

That's why they ain't work. You gotta use them. I can't believe how many people. Do you use them for the same thing Megan's needing them for? what did you oh she hung up she didn't want to tell me maybe it's not the same thing i say

01:09:24 - 01:09:35 | Speaker 3:

use them and be proud because there is nothing worse than waking up in the morning and going oh god now i have to wash my sheets and i have to throw away my pajamas and i have to

01:09:35 - 01:09:53 | Speaker 5:

just use them by the way we need to bow down before these women that they've got to deal with us kevin this is unbelievable yes we need to today seriously hug a woman or something no don't do that don't ask permission first yeah what's up pam hi oh hi i just wanted to ask you

01:09:53 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

mojo um after you try out your diaper who's changing you i don't know

01:10:00 - 01:10:05 | Speaker 5:

chelsea i don't know but these are like pull up so he's a big boy he can get him on and off

01:10:05 - 01:10:11 | Speaker 4:

myself i hope it's gotta be dying when you said you wanted to try a diaper i'm like what

01:10:11 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 2:

tell me though that you wouldn't love to go to like a concert and not have to worry about leaving like if you went to lalapalooza and you actually just i don't know but i'm i wonder are there any people that have ever put on an adult diaper when they're at an event that they didn't want to go to wait in a long line, like a Lions game. You miss pretty much an entire quarter by going to the bathroom and waiting in line. Oh, that's true. Am I wrong? No, no, no, no. Don't say it's true. I'm not wrong. Pam, do not encourage this game. What about you, Cav? You work on the court during a game. What do you have to do when you've got to go to the bathroom really bad?

01:10:48 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 1:

I hold it until I've got a timeout or a free break.

01:10:51 - 01:10:53 | Speaker 4:

And then your bladder hurts real bad, though.

01:10:53 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 1:

Pam, no, Pam, Before you called in, you thought this man was crazy. Do not let him convince you otherwise. You have to stand there with pissy diapers or boo-boo diapers, and you're okay with that? I don't think I'd boo-boo, but I'd pee in it.

01:11:05 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 2:

I would pee.

01:11:07 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 1:

Number one, not number two.

01:11:09 - 01:11:12 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. Yeah. Oh, my God.

01:11:12 - 01:11:14 | Speaker 1:

Why? I'm not counting. We're not doing any numbers.

01:11:14 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 2:

We're all going to dinner tomorrow night together. Bring some of those. I'm wearing them at dinner, and I'm going to sit there at the table, and you'll notice exactly who I am when I'm doing it. What's up, Erica?

01:11:25 - 01:11:37 | Speaker 3:

So, Megan, the tan ones are for urine, for, like, people who are incontinent and can't, like, hold their bladder. That's why you can't wear those. Like, I don't even know if it would work for your period. No!

01:11:38 - 01:11:47 | Speaker 5:

Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Give me the tan ones, because I'm at that age. Right, right? I'll pay you for it.

01:11:49 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 3:

So, I'm even angrier, Erica.

01:11:53 - 01:11:54 | Speaker 2:

Addie, what's up?

01:11:55 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 4:

Hi, so I went to the Aaron's tour in Chicago last year And I bought some groceries in a really cute outfit And all of a sudden I was like, wait a second I think she's wearing a diaper And me and my husband were laughing Because the whole group of them They were all dressed up in these really cute, adorable outfits But they were very clearly wearing diapers So they wouldn't have to go to the bathroom during the Taylor Swift show See? It's not that serious Nothing is that serious Right, correct

01:12:22 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 2:

Amy, what do you guys, you and your friends all day? do this? They call them

01:12:27 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 4:

party panties. We call them party panties.

01:12:29 - 01:12:31 | Speaker 2:

And you guys all wear them together,

01:12:31 - 01:12:37 | Speaker 4:

huh? I don't, but they do. Never miss your favorite song is what we say. Oh, that's fantastic.

01:12:37 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 1:

I know, but they do. Okay.

01:12:42 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 4:

Maybe he didn't call his wife to check in while on your date, but something isn't right. Second night update

01:12:47 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 1:

is after 8 this morning on Mojo in the Morning.

01:12:53 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. Okay, so the next topic that Shannon's going to bring up here right now, I want to make sure that we get some people lined up for this. Is there anyone listening who is serving divorce papers this Christmas?

01:13:10 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 5:

So I met somebody in line. Are you guys like standing in a massive amount of lines right now? I feel like. I was in the Abercrombie line for literally 35 minutes. So this was not Abercrombie. This was actually not even at the mall. But anyway, I started talking to the person behind me, and he mentioned to me that amid all of the craziness and what we were shopping for, he hated the Christmas season. And when I asked him why, he said it was because his ex-wife and the mother of his two kids served him with divorce papers two years ago on Christmas Eve. Aw, you can't do that. On Christmas Eve. And he said, it's just, it's been tough ever since then. Last year was terrible. And he's like, this year I'm not feeling it either. It's hard to do it for the kids. You know, you suck it up for the kids, which obviously we were talking about that. But I thought, that is rotten. Yeah. That is rotten. Why? Because for a very long time, he's going to have that yuck feeling on Christmas Eve. You just don't forget that.

01:14:06 - 01:14:11 | Speaker 2:

I don't know anything about the serving divorce papers, but do you have control over when they can get them or can't get them?

01:14:11 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 5:

So when I got divorced, there were no papers served. Like, we just, you know, did everything pretty amicably. But I'm fairly certain, please correct me if I'm wrong, that you know the general vicinity of time that they're going to be served. You may not know the exact, but...

01:14:27 - 01:14:30 | Speaker 2:

Why would you not wait until after the Christmas season? That's exactly what I mean. The Christmas season. That's great.

01:14:30 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 5:

Like, I'm pretty sure you can control at least that.

01:14:33 - 01:15:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Anybody have weird feelings around this time of the year because that has happened to them? Or is there anybody, and I don't know if you're willing to share this with us, that is serving divorce papers now? Like you've already talked to an attorney and you know that they're going to be happening at any moment. I think anything leading up to it, like I think you're cut off is Thanksgiving week. If you ask for a divorce, Thanksgiving week till at least the six. of january until the world comes back from their holidays you can't do it i think it should be closed i matter of fact i'm going to put a proclamation in place in uh michigan and ohio are two listening states you cannot do this at all the courts have to shut down right i mean i think january 6th would be the perfect day holy christ but um it does seem intentional it seems like i want you to feel this oh look at these text messages all these people that have had this happened to them all right that's lydia call these people lydia's gonna call you guys that have texted into us pick up your phone that's nuts uh and then what would be worse what would be worse getting divorce papers on christmas or getting divorce papers on your birthday or your child's birthday what is worse with that one 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 um what's up craig How you doing?

01:15:57 - 01:15:58 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going?

01:15:58 - 01:16:00 | Speaker 2:

Good, man. What's happening with you?

01:16:01 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 1:

So I was just going to say, I mean, if you know you're getting divorced, I don't really think a holiday matters when it's happening, but I don't think a holiday matters either way if you don't know you're getting divorced, because whenever you're served those papers and you think everything is good, you know?

01:16:17 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. There was a quick question for you. Have you been through a divorce? Have you been through being served? A couple. A couple? Oh, my God. All right. it's time for you to stop no more so when were you served uh well we in both of the cases i knew

01:16:33 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 1:

it was gonna happen yeah so it was it was kind of just like a mutual thing oh geez okay um i've been i was married for eight years the first time and eight years the second time and i just uh recently married again like but i wouldn't i've been with her for four and a half

01:16:48 - 01:17:24 | Speaker 2:

years what do you think you think this one's gonna last uh i hope so yeah we'll know in four years it's a four-year plan uh all right uh texters here i don't want to go on the air and speak because it's too hard for me without crying this is from uh 419 says that they were served four christmases ago and it was the worst time of their life because it was just during the covid time too oh that's awful um what's up britney how you doing it's mojo in the morning what's going on good morning good morning what's going on with you

01:17:24 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 4:

oh same old same old yeah first time on time by the way

01:17:30 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 2:

this is uh britney britney's on the phone britney were you served papers or did you do the servant i served them and when did you

01:17:44 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 4:

serve him on our eighth anniversary because he was really rotten and then like two days before my lawyer said well we're gonna serve him today and i said could you hold off and do it in two days because it's our anniversary and she said absolutely oh my god you can pick the exact day that was one of my questions well they have to be served like by someone that serves them so

01:18:09 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 3:

No, that's what I know, but you could say, not today. I want you to do it on Tuesday.

01:18:15 - 01:18:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, he was really nasty to my lawyer, too, so she had no problem with it.

01:18:20 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 2:

Just a nasty guy? Like, when you say nasty, I mean, if he was abusive, yeah, serve him, you know, at any time. But was he just, like, kind of a mean guy because he was struggling through what was going on?

01:18:34 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 4:

No, he's just arrogant, cheater.

01:18:37 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

01:18:38 - 01:18:41 | Speaker 4:

It's kind of a whole package of crap bags. All right.

01:18:42 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 2:

Well, here you go, crap bag. Happy anniversary.

01:18:47 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 4:

I did get revenge in the end. Yeah, I did ask him what he got me for the anniversary, too. I got called a not very nice word.

01:18:53 - 01:18:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez.

01:18:54 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 4:

But at the end of the divorce, I was so happy it was finally over because he drug it out really bad.

01:19:00 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:19:00 - 01:19:09 | Speaker 4:

So I wrote, just divorce, ding dong, the dick is gone on my back window. And it wouldn't come off. Oh, I stayed.

01:19:09 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 2:

You had to trade that car in. There's some guy driving around right now with ding-dong and the dick is gone. What's up, Kim? How you doing?

01:19:18 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you this morning?

01:19:20 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 2:

We're doing great. We're talking about serving divorce papers as a Christmas blessing here. What's up?

01:19:27 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 3:

I filed for divorce two years ago, and I wish I would have, but my lawyer was out of town. um served him on his birthday which was also thanksgiving oh wow eat this he's not a good person he is a severe narcissist um controlling i wanted to have the last straw

01:19:52 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 2:

and uh serve him wow that's amazing a lot of women serving their men that are calling us up here What's up, Kay? How you doing? Some guys calling. Good morning. What's going on, Kay?

01:20:06 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 3:

First time. Hey, we're going to go home. Kay's on the phone. So it wasn't for Christmas, but our final court date to finalize everything after the six months was scheduled for my birthday.

01:20:23 - 01:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a birthday present, huh?

01:20:26 - 01:20:35 | Speaker 3:

Now, I'm the one that's filing, so everything has to go on my terms. So, no, we had to change that. I didn't want to remember this date on my birthday every year for the rest of my life.

01:20:36 - 01:20:48 | Speaker 2:

So, yeah. Wow. It was wild. That's amazing. You know, at some point, it's like you think, God, you guys at one point were in love with each other. Now you guys are going through just hard times. Jennifer, are you there?

01:20:49 - 01:20:50 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I'm here.

01:20:51 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 2:

Jennifer's was her dad. Your dad served your mom. Tell everybody where your dad served your mom the divorce papers.

01:20:57 - 01:21:23 | Speaker 1:

um we were actually um i was 14 at the time and um we were getting ready um for my grandpa's funeral my mom's dad had passed away and it was the first day of the of the funeral like showing and um there was a carrier that came and came for divorce papers okay that trumps christmas to me that's awful as a daughter you do have a choice as a daughter could you could you ever look at

01:21:23 - 01:21:30 | Speaker 2:

him again with respect knowing he did that to your mom no that's tough especially because then

01:21:30 - 01:21:49 | Speaker 1:

i went through a divorce about six years ago and i had a choice like i had a choice to either serve him myself um had someone do it like when i could do it where if i wanted to be done served him at work at home wherever so you do have what did you choose i chose to serve him myself okay that's

01:21:49 - 01:21:54 | Speaker 2:

You know what? That's respectful. Yeah. If you got the strength to be able to do it. Are you doing good?

01:21:55 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah. I'm doing better. But, I mean, that was a long time ago when my dad, yeah, served my mom. But it was an awful experience to stand there and watch your mom be served divorce papers. I was old enough to know.

01:22:06 - 01:22:14 | Speaker 2:

At grandpa's funeral. Hold on. Jess wants to be voice disguised. Hey, Jess, what's going on? Hello. Are you there, Jess?

01:22:15 - 01:22:16 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:22:16 - 01:22:18 | Speaker 2:

We're voice disguising you. What's going on?

01:22:19 - 01:22:30 | Speaker 5:

So, my ex-co-worker served her husband's divorce, Taylor, on Father's Day.

01:22:31 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

01:22:32 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 5:

This year. Wow. Y'all gotta relax.

01:22:35 - 01:22:37 | Speaker 2:

How many kids do they have together?

01:22:39 - 01:22:40 | Speaker 5:

Two or three.

01:22:40 - 01:22:45 | Speaker 2:

Was he with his kids at the time? Because if that was the case, that's really bad.

01:22:45 - 01:22:53 | Speaker 5:

i i don't know the whole story but i'm gonna guess so honestly that's brutal that is so

01:22:53 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 2:

do you feel do is she like a vindictive person or did she have kind of i mean i wasn't that

01:23:01 - 01:23:07 | Speaker 5:

close to her when i worked with her but the fact that she got with a co-worker after oh she got

01:23:07 - 01:23:21 | Speaker 2:

with a co-worker oh my god that's bad those are one of the ones where you do something like that I feel like karma's going to come back and bite you in the ass. You know? You're going to get you just desserts. One last one. Brian, are you there?

01:23:22 - 01:23:29 | Speaker 4:

Hey, what's up, Mojo? How you doing, buddy? Love you guys. Love you guys to death. We love you, too.

01:23:29 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what's happening?

01:23:30 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 4:

So my first ex-wife, notice I said first. I'm on number three now, but this one's forever. I've lost half my stuff twice. I got nothing left. I can't mess this one up. My first ex-wife had her best friend dress up really sexy and bring this gift bag to my work. I worked third shift, and my boss grabbed it, and he said, hey, this beautiful girl just dropped this off for you. And I got digging through it, and then the bottom of it was an envelope, and inside the envelope was divorce papers. So I'm like, my boss is like, what's the matter? I said, that bag had divorce papers in it. But what she didn't know is because she didn't personally hand them to me, I made her have her, I made her resend that or re-serve me because, you know, I was a, I was an a-hole back then. Let's, you know, I'm, but, uh, yeah, because she didn't, she didn't hand it. She gave them to my boss and my boss gave me the gift bag. The papers weren't actually served to me. So, so she had to go about it and hire a process server and then have, have me served.

01:24:40 - 01:24:53 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. Brian, let me ask you a question. being divorced three times you said so no two times my third marriage now whenever you see a guy walking suspiciously with an envelope in his hand do you ever sit there and worry that

01:24:53 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 4:

the third wife is going to do it again yeah don't open it don't give me that envelope i don't want

01:25:00 - 01:25:16 | Speaker 1:

This one's forever. Mojo, I was an a-hole back then, a complete a-hole. I've come completely around, and this one's forever. I'm not going to mess this one up. Oh, we believe you. I lost half my stuff twice. I got nothing left, man. I'd be out on the street. I'd be living with Kev.

01:25:18 - 01:25:22 | Speaker 3:

Kev has a place. Oh, my God.

01:25:23 - 01:25:27 | Speaker 5:

Kevin, can you imagine? Who's that guy? That's Brian.

01:25:27 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm just laughing. You got an extra room, don't you, Cal?

01:25:31 - 01:25:35 | Speaker 4:

As long as your ex-wife, sexy best friend come through, you can come too.

01:25:37 - 01:25:38 | Speaker 5:

Mojo.

01:25:42 - 01:25:51 | Speaker 1:

5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:25:51 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

01:25:53 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 1:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

01:25:55 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hat. All right, it is the Mojo in the Morning show heard on great stations like Detroit's Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo, Ohio. Kevin says that he is a grown ass man even though he doesn't act like it all the time

01:26:29 - 01:26:30 | Speaker 4:

here you go

01:26:30 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 5:

right guys but

01:26:33 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 2:

he says

01:26:37 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 5:

that in here it will fill in the blank with this one here I am too grown for a blank what are you too grown for a case for my phone you're too grown for a case for your phone

01:26:53 - 01:27:01 | Speaker 3:

you are dumb you are dumb because you don't have a case on your very expensive phone I am mature

01:27:01 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 4:

I have reached a level in my maturity because I say I'm mature it doesn't mean I'm saying everyone who has a case on their phone isn't so don't take it that way I have reached a point in my maturity where I do not need to buy a case on my phone and ever since this phone has come out I don't know when it is it's not like the newest iPhone it's probably like a something but I've had it for a couple of years and no problems I don't see why I need a case I'm too grown for that he's going to shatter his phone today no I'm not yeah I do too no do not speak that evil on me Ricky Bobby

01:27:39 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 1:

I hope so too

01:27:42 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 5:

I hope that he just

01:27:43 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 3:

think about it it's kind of like I couldn't survive without a phone case yes you could when people are like oh will you take a picture for me and then I grab their phone and they don't have a case on it I'm like how do you even like use it truly I don't know

01:28:00 - 01:28:10 | Speaker 4:

it's like car insurance y'all feel better cause y'all have it but like do you actually need it for it how many accidents you been in do you have car insurance yeah I do but I don't need it

01:28:10 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 2:

after that comment I don't

01:28:12 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 4:

think about it think about how much money you spend in car insurance every month that you just have for protection in case of emergency. And that's what your little case on your phone is for, in case of emergency. But how often are you really dropping your phone? Kevin.

01:28:26 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 3:

But even if you get into a car accident, a good chunk of the time, you can still drive your vehicle and get from point A to point B. You drop and shatter your phone and it's shattered, shattered, you're SOL.

01:28:38 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I'm talking to Luke right now. I feel like I'm talking to my youngest son who breaks his phone nonstop and won't have a case on it. And the reason he won't have a case on it is you can't see the cool back end of the thing.

01:28:52 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 4:

Who the heck cares? They don't know what it looks like. That's an interesting point.

01:28:55 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 5:

And you know what Apple does with the back ends? They make them so they break so they can make new ones for you.

01:29:00 - 01:29:07 | Speaker 4:

Bro, this phone is extremely durable. I haven't shattered my screen. Okay, throw it against the wall. I'm not, but that's what I'm saying. Who does that?

01:29:08 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I... If you're so sure of how durable it is, throw it against the wall.

01:29:12 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 4:

No, Shannon. Now that's dumb. I'm not doing it.

01:29:14 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 2:

Like, it's not happening. I went and took my dog out for a run the other day, and it literally fell out of my backpack and was, like, tumbling down the street.

01:29:23 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 4:

In slow motion, probably, too.

01:29:25 - 01:29:25 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

01:29:25 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 4:

Was it, like, zipped in the backpack, or did you have it in an area that could...

01:29:29 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 2:

It was, like, in a side pocket.

01:29:30 - 01:29:32 | Speaker 4:

Oh, well, that's your fault. Kevin wears...

01:29:32 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, I just had a case on it, so even though it fell, it didn't shatter.

01:29:35 - 01:29:39 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, who puts a cell phone in a side pocket? That's not what it's for. That's for water bottles.

01:29:40 - 01:29:56 | Speaker 5:

Kevin puts his phone in those sweatpants of his, and it's going to fall out of that sweatpants pocket. Or the sweatpants pocket up front in your sweatshirt. What's up, Austin? What's going on? I feel like we're talking to a child here. He's not a grown-ass man. What's going on?

01:29:57 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

I have no disrespect, but if you're broke, just...

01:30:00 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 3:

Yes, Austin. The reason why I do not have a $7 phone case is because I go to Chipotle every day.

01:30:10 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 4:

If you go to Apple and go get any of those phone cases, those phone cases are expensive. I get it. They're like $60 for a freaking phone case.

01:30:19 - 01:30:21 | Speaker 3:

You don't need an Otterbox. It's not that deep.

01:30:21 - 01:30:38 | Speaker 4:

No, but even their regular ones, which I don't like. I don't get the leather one. I get the one that's like whatever the plasticky one. But can I tell you something? I get the idea of not wanting the big old bulky phone case, like an OtterBox. But you got to have something on there.

01:30:38 - 01:30:46 | Speaker 3:

For what? Do you have a screen protector at least? No. I'm raw dogging it right now. I'm so good. I'm raw dogging it. Oh, my God.

01:30:46 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 2:

I mean, at least get a glass screen protector and then, like, you're good.

01:30:50 - 01:30:52 | Speaker 3:

I'm good. Austin, have you ever shattered a screen?

01:30:53 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 2:

Yes. 100%.

01:30:54 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 3:

And after you shattered that screen, did you start moving a little differently? You started moving a little more carefully? I mean, stuff happens.

01:31:03 - 01:31:09 | Speaker 1:

So you're telling me you've only ever broken your phone once, and then you just handled it differently for the future.

01:31:09 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 3:

No, I've shattered screens, but the last time I shattered a screen, my mind switched, and I said, I'm the problem. It's not the phone. I just need to do a better job of handling it.

01:31:19 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't you rather have a $7 case than to buy another $1,500 phone?

01:31:23 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 3:

Well, for the past two years, man, I've been doing mighty fine. Until today.

01:31:28 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 7:

Why? I know. He put it in existence.

01:31:30 - 01:31:31 | Speaker 4:

Thanks for the call, buddy.

01:31:31 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 7:

You just put a hex on yourself. And if you missed the fact that Kev got a hex removed earlier today in the show, please check out the podcast because it was fascinating.

01:31:41 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 4:

Will wants to say something to Kevin. What's up, Will?

01:31:44 - 01:32:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, this doesn't have anything to do about being grown, quote unquote. So, Kevin has found something where he thinks he's better than the rest of us. Oh, see? He's putting the label on it. Yeah. I'm being grown. You know who doesn't say they need to be grown? Grown-ups. Children have to argue about being grown. You're right, Will.

01:32:05 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 3:

You're right, Will.

01:32:08 - 01:32:14 | Speaker 4:

Well, don't you pray. Pray it breaks today. Jack. What's up, Jack?

01:32:15 - 01:32:40 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. I'm fully on board with Kevin not having a case on his phone just because that was the same way, you know. But for me, it was really the point. I didn't care, you know, if it broke or not. I was kind of sick of it. But that was until I was working out and it shattered. I won the gym equipment. And I was like, okay, well, now I do need to have an outer box. That's the only reason why, though.

01:32:41 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. This is an iPhone 13, by the way. It's so expensive to get a new phone.

01:32:46 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, iPhone, I mean, Android is superior. I mean, all iPhone has is just they keep, you know, increasing the size, hoping you'll pay more for it, though.

01:32:54 - 01:32:58 | Speaker 3:

The reason why I bring up the type of iPhone is because this came out in 2021.

01:32:59 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:32:59 - 01:33:02 | Speaker 3:

So I've had this thing for, like, three years. And it's never broken.

01:33:02 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 4:

It's never shattered, never broken. Do you have the insurance plan on it? It probably expired. Because AppleCare, you must have AppleCare. Otherwise, you'll always get screwed. AppleCare always will run out on me, and my phone will break the next day. They know when it happens.

01:33:18 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I never had insurance or anything. I had my phone probably about five years with no problem. I actually had an OtterBox originally, and I was like, you know what? Just like Kevin, I'm too grown for this. So I took it off, and a month later, then I shattered it on the door. All right, it rolled up on me.

01:33:35 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 4:

Thanks for the call, buddy. What's up, Paul?

01:33:38 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 2:

Hey, don't let Kev fool you guys. He's just playing with fire. I'm telling you. Yeah. I'm hoping. On Friday, he's going to drop his phone. It's going to tell us. On Friday?

01:33:47 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 7:

During the remix. Yes, during the remix.

01:33:50 - 01:34:00 | Speaker 3:

Welcome to the Mojo. The Mojo. Better knock on some wood, Kev. I'm telling you, man. Cash out, Kev knows. I'm coming for you. Greg, what's up, Greg?

01:34:01 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 5:

Hey, that's like saying I don't need a condom because I have all your phones locked in.

01:34:06 - 01:34:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. That's what Kevin has. I can't say that. I've never said that. That's where I drive a lot.

01:34:13 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 4:

Greg, do me a favor. Listen tomorrow morning because you guarantee tomorrow morning, this is like saying, I haven't overslept ever. You know, you oversleep the next day. I have never broken my phone. Kevin, tomorrow, we will have him walk in here and he'll show us a crack at the front of that screen.

01:34:30 - 01:34:32 | Speaker 3:

The only thing I'm pulling out of is my parking spot.

01:34:35 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 5:

We're the station to put the rum in. Pa-rum-pa-pum-pum.

01:34:38 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 7:

Merry Christmas. from Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:42 - 01:34:44 | Speaker 2:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:44 - 01:34:51 | Speaker 4:

All right, second date update right now. Larissa is getting ghosted. Larissa, what's up?

01:34:52 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 7:

Hey, um, I wish I had something more exciting to tell you, but basically I I went out with

01:35:00 - 01:35:18 | Speaker 1:

this guy miguel we had a great time the vibe was perfect um we went out we got food we walked around downtown we met up with his friends like this is all in one night and then afterwards he came back to my place spent the night and ever since then i haven't heard from him so did you

01:35:18 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 3:

guys spend the night sleeping or spend the night doing other things a little bit of everything

01:35:24 - 01:35:24 | Speaker 1:

Really?

01:35:24 - 01:35:33 | Speaker 3:

Okay. So it was a good enough night to the point that he ended up staying the night. And then what did he do? Did he leave the next morning or afternoon?

01:35:34 - 01:35:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he left the next morning. Everything was fine. What did he say to you?

01:35:39 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 3:

What did he say when he left?

01:35:42 - 01:35:52 | Speaker 1:

He said, well, you know, thank you for such a lovely night. I'll text you later. And I was like, perfect, you know. And later never came.

01:35:52 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 3:

So he's never text you back even just to check in and say, hey, what's up?

01:35:56 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 1:

Right. And I've texted him a couple times and I haven't heard back.

01:36:01 - 01:36:01 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:36:02 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:36:03 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 3:

And this was somebody that you say that you really liked. I mean, obviously you liked. Do you date a lot? I know you guys met on an app, but you guys.

01:36:12 - 01:36:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, we met on an app too. I've dated a few people from the app.

01:36:18 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 3:

Which app are you using? What are you using?

01:36:21 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 1:

Tinder.

01:36:22 - 01:36:22 | Unknown:

Dang.

01:36:22 - 01:36:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay, Tinder, Tinder. I was hoping it wasn't Tinder. Give me a Tinder for a win here, guys. All right, here's the deal. We're going to find out what's going on. Second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Miguel is on the phone with us. Miguel, are you okay with your voice on the radio? Sure, yeah. Hey, Miguel, say hello to Larissa.

01:36:45 - 01:36:45 | Speaker 2:

Hello, Larissa.

01:36:47 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Miguel.

01:36:47 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 3:

Miguel, you heard Larissa tell us about your date. What's going on? Why have you not texted her back?

01:36:58 - 01:37:08 | Speaker 2:

I mean, look, it sounds all great, and it was. We bought, but she had some serious anger issues in my book, so I just like the red flag to me.

01:37:09 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 1:

How did that come on?

01:37:10 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

um well when we were driving uh to the bar first of all she's a little hectic like not she can't really drive very well in my opinion because like she cut off a few people but there was one like she cut them off i don't i mean i don't know i don't know it could have been him or her i don't know but she cut this car off and then she made like a real concerted effort to like drive, get close, make sure she sped up and got, you know, like, I just made sure that she flipped the guy off and I'm sitting here like, what? And she like made this whole scene and I'm just going like, what the heck? What is this? And look, we did have a great night, all that stuff. You know, probably could have been better than not followed through with all that stuff. But anyway.

01:37:59 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so she was driving and while she was driving, somebody cut her off and she road-raged right there in front of you?

01:38:11 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 2:

Was super loud, angry, was like, get you, bro, and then, like, put them off and made sure that he saw. Go, f*** yourself.

01:38:19 - 01:38:33 | Speaker 3:

So, quick, I got two questions of this one. Number one question is, was the person that cut her off in the wrong? Number two question of this one, why is she driving and why did you not drive?

01:38:34 - 01:39:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. this is what we agreed to but i mean she was like you know let's go i you know i was at work at the time you yeah that's my message so you you and kiss my so did did the person that cut her off were they in the wrong um she was really close to the guy and he he kind of was coming into the lane she didn't put her blinker on okay the answer is not a drive she wasn't like what's that larissa

01:39:02 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 1:

The answer is yes, he did deserve it. And yes, I did drive like that, but I don't think it's aggressive. I think it's just, you know, like these people don't know how to drive around us. And the guy cut me off. And so I think he needed to know that I didn't appreciate it. So I flashed my lights at him. I sped up close enough for him to see my finger and I gave it to him. Who the f*** was that? I mean, probably not the best first date.

01:39:25 - 01:39:45 | Speaker 3:

I'm with Miguel, man. If she turned up like that, she cussing at the man, flipping him off. That's eternal. I get it, but I also say, sometimes, listen, you flipped off a little kid in a grocery store, for God's sake. He liked it. Yeah, he liked it. But you're also talking, I don't understand why the hell she's driving, though. Like, I don't care. It could be a safety thing.

01:39:45 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 2:

No, it's not even that.

01:39:46 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 3:

That doesn't matter? No. It could be a safety thing, though. Maybe this first day, maybe she doesn't want him in, you know what I mean? Who made the decision of who was going to drive, Larissa?

01:39:55 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 2:

Look, I get it. I think that's irrelevant, though.

01:39:58 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 3:

Okay, you do. I agree with you.

01:40:00 - 01:40:03 | Speaker 2:

Because you could be in the wrong. Larissa, who made the decision of who was driving?

01:40:04 - 01:40:23 | Speaker 8:

I mean, I offered and he accepted. I'm not really sure why. It's not a big deal. I don't know if he has the car or not. Drive your own damn car. And at the same time, I just want it to be noted that, like, you know, he's in my car. I'm responsible for his safety. This person cuts me off. I think it's my rightful duty.

01:40:23 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 2:

She was thinking of his safety.

01:40:25 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 3:

Guys, this is crazy. I don't know what you're talking about. She flipped the guy off. I get it.

01:40:31 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 1:

I hid my crazy for a couple of months when I started dating Wes.

01:40:34 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 2:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. This guy also went back to her house and had sex with her. He was so freaked out over this whole thing that he took her back to her house because guess what? Crazy girls make better love than non-crazy girls, right?

01:40:49 - 01:40:50 | Speaker 8:

I'm not going to disagree with that.

01:40:52 - 01:40:56 | Speaker 2:

He was so appalled by this whole thing that he had sex with her. Go ahead, Megan.

01:40:56 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 6:

Road rage is super normal. I feel like that's the most normal of all the rages. Like, you can have lots of road rage, but not have rage in your real life.

01:41:05 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 1:

I don't think that you let somebody see that glimpse the first time they're meeting you.

01:41:09 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you wait till you're engaged.

01:41:11 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 1:

You stifle that. You sweep that under the rug. I will F you up, bitch!

01:41:16 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 2:

Poor Wasp wants to run. Jordan, what's going on?

01:41:20 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 4:

So, you actually said exactly what I was going to say when I called him, so you beat me to it.

01:41:26 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 2:

What was that?

01:41:26 - 01:41:32 | Speaker 4:

he seemed to go home with her he wasn't bothered by that

01:41:32 - 01:41:42 | Speaker 2:

yeah this happened when they were on their way to the bar that means that they spent the time at the bar they hung out downtown and then got back in the car with her to go back to her house I don't see anything wrong with that

01:41:42 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 4:

I mean my wife rode her ages all the time sometimes it scares me a little bit

01:41:48 - 01:41:51 | Speaker 1:

you sound scared talking to us right now

01:41:51 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 2:

you went home with her too you married her Listen, I'm going to tell you, Miguel, I just think that you're a hypocrite and cheap for not driving. Because he slept with her? He's a hypocrite? No, he's a hypocrite for the fact that he was so... I cannot be around her. She's screaming and swearing and, you know, road raging. Let's go back to your house so I can see what your vagina looks like. You know what I mean? Crazy in the head, crazy in bed. That's what it is. Tamara, what's going on?

01:42:22 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 7:

hey i think he was right not to call her back because she just said he's in her car she's responsible for his safety but road rage is super dangerous did she think about that like i would never get back in the car with her again there are two kinds of road rages

01:42:41 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 6:

that's not fair there's the one that you pretend to have a verbal altercation with the person driving the other vehicle because they are clearly in the wrong and then there are the swerving in and out of traffic and brake tracking. So if it's just verbal, that's not unsafe. No, once you

01:42:55 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 7:

extend a finger to another driver, you are going in dangerous territory. That is not cool, especially with someone else in the car.

01:43:03 - 01:43:07 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Bruno? Hi, Bruno. Hello? Hi, what's going on?

01:43:09 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 3:

Morning. It just sounds to me like the dude was never in it for a relationship. I mean, if he found a red flag by getting in the car, he should have stuck to that. and not get back in that car again because he ended up having sex with her. And now all of a sudden, there's all kinds of red flags and she's got anger issues. I mean, dude, if she has anger issues, you should never have come back home with her.

01:43:31 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Wouldn't you be scared to be at her house with her? Maybe she was only angry during the road rage. Well, how about this? Date her and don't let her drive. Be the guy driving.

01:43:42 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 1:

You are so stuck on that.

01:43:44 - 01:43:52 | Speaker 2:

I am because, Shannon, if a guy were to make you scared road raging somebody, You would get back in the car with that guy again and drive with him?

01:43:52 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 1:

No, I wouldn't. I'm saying you're stuck on the fact that she drove and he didn't.

01:43:56 - 01:44:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that bothers me. Listen, that's like a guy not paying for a meal, too. What's going on, Misfit Ron?

01:44:03 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I wanted to comment. First, Mojo, listen, I know we're tight. You can't get on that guy because he let her drive. I feel like in the world, just aside, I feel like because that girl was acting crazy and driving that you're trying to dismiss his claim that she's crazy because she let him drive like like he like he can't be valid in his reason for being crazy on a technical because he let her drive. Listen, and I and I know people that get irritated when they drive like this. Yeah, this is not just get irritated when you drive the car thing. Yeah, we get pissed. This is not just this is a little glimpse into the whole picture. If she gets irritated over a car, something that's not that drastic. I know she's going to get pissed and angry over other things. This is just a small.

01:45:00 - 01:45:06 | Speaker 6:

piece of the pie for sure we we are tight ron you are absolutely right why are you getting on that

01:45:06 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 1:

guy because you let her drive like it's because i am it appalls me that there are guys that are not gentlemen these days i understand that and another thing yeah is why did the guy go back to the apartment right yeah just like a lot of the comments of like you guys say and the the guests on the show say, they're just on a dating site for Tinder. It's not like they're going to be in love, and they don't know. That girl went along with it, too. You guys always fault people for wanting to go back to the house and do things, but you're owed nothing when you're on a dating site. That's when people are there doing whatever. Oh, this is great.

01:45:49 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 6:

Hold on, Ron. Watch out. Here comes the crazy out of these girls. I thought you were going after Mojo. No, no, no, we're tight, we're tight, we're tight. You say something wild. All right, Ron. Thank you, Ron. Yeah. Yeah.

01:46:02 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry.

01:46:05 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 6:

No, no, Ron, don't apologize.

01:46:07 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 3:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown, second date update, and war of the roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:16 - 01:46:28 | Speaker 6:

All right, Mojo in the Morning show. Is this weird or is this kind of hot that your husband, Shannon, is doing this? No. What is Wes doing?

01:46:28 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 4:

He thinks that it is so hysterical to take photos of me when I'm sleeping. And you have all witnessed this on airplanes. And Megan, we room together. I am an ugly sleeper. I frown when I sleep or I keep my mouth open. It's really bad. So he'll take a photo of me and then send it to me next morning, the next morning.

01:46:47 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 6:

Is he taking it as a joke or taking it because he thinks it's cute how you sleep?

01:46:51 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so both. Sometimes he's like, look at this. Look at this sleeping beauty. And it's bad. Right. Or he'll be like, look, you fell asleep holding my hand. But my face is literally this. Oh, no. Do you know what I mean? I'm like, please. You look like you're drunk. God. Delete and then delete from the deleted. I don't want these photos to exist anywhere.

01:47:12 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 6:

All right, you are married to him, right? Okay, so this is the thing.

01:47:15 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 4:

Last I checked, yes.

01:47:16 - 01:47:30 | Speaker 6:

You're married to him, so there is a little bit of territory that he owns in that bedroom. I think it's weird if the guy you're dating does this. I don't know if it's weird if the guy that you're married to does it. I could be wrong.

01:47:30 - 01:47:33 | Speaker 4:

It absolutely is. It is? Why? For what purpose are you dating that?

01:47:33 - 01:47:35 | Speaker 6:

Invasion of privacy, or what do you think this is?

01:47:35 - 01:47:37 | Speaker 4:

It's just not nice at all.

01:47:38 - 01:47:51 | Speaker 6:

Okay. I think it's funny. Has anybody ever had a person do this, take pictures of you while you're sleeping? I think it would be weird if you were like naked or something like that or whatever like he's taking it and you don't know

01:47:51 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 4:

I don't think I've ever been naked

01:47:52 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 6:

but if he's taking pictures of what he thinks is your cute face or your funny face

01:47:57 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 4:

I think that's funny

01:47:59 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 6:

I think that's kind of nice

01:48:02 - 01:48:13 | Speaker 4:

you don't like it Shannon? I hate it and he knows I hate it he has been doing this since we I think have been dating he probably has a good amount of photos

01:48:13 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 6:

Does he have like a folder of them?

01:48:15 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 5:

I hope to dear God not. You know he has a folder. But they're bad. And the fact that you hate it makes him want to do it even more. Yeah. Yeah. I used to have a folder of Sherelle snoring. Why? I'm talking like videos because he used to get crazy.

01:48:33 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 4:

If you catch a partner doing something weird, you got to catch it. Okay, here's a great one. Look at this one from the other night. Look at that photo. Are you joking me? Let me see.

01:48:41 - 01:48:42 | Speaker 7:

Can I see? You don't look bad.

01:48:42 - 01:48:44 | Speaker 4:

Are you joking?

01:48:44 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 2:

But why does that make me want to be vulnerable in front of you when I know you have a plethora of those to use against me

01:48:50 - 01:48:56 | Speaker 4:

in a court of law? You guys, I have dozens. And then he sends them to me the next morning.

01:48:56 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 5:

You should print them out and put them all over the Christmas tree.

01:49:00 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 1:

He's not going to get the Christmas.

01:49:05 - 01:49:27 | Speaker 6:

Text her here. This is from 586. 586 says, I had a guy that I took out on a date or a guy that took me out on a date I can't read I had a guy that took me out on a date do this to me when I spent the night at his house I just saw them in his phone that you gotta say something

01:49:27 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 4:

that is super creepy

01:49:28 - 01:49:35 | Speaker 6:

you have to be able to say that you're doing this and then another person just asked Shannon are you drooling in any of these pictures

01:49:35 - 01:49:38 | Speaker 4:

I don't believe I drool I do sweat all the time

01:49:38 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 6:

Brandy what's up

01:49:39 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 2:

hey i have a whole folder on my phone and i also share them all on facebook and my husband's not on facebook but his friends always tell him every time that i share them but i've got the snoring i've got him sleeping in a chair putting taking his boots off after Yeah.

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 3:

Or you name it, I got a picture of him sleeping to it.

01:50:03 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 4:

By the way, can I ask this question? Why are you posting them for everybody to see? If Wes did that, then for sure we wouldn't be on Team Wes.

01:50:12 - 01:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Because he's so cute when he sleeps. It's like children. Like, look how sweet and innocent he is.

01:50:17 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's funny. This poor guy. What's up, Jessica? She's the bed paparazzi. What's up, Jessica?

01:50:24 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

01:50:24 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:50:25 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 1:

I agree with Shannon. And my husband does this to me all the time, and I hate it. And I feel like if your significant other is expressing their hate for it, they shouldn't do it.

01:50:36 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. You know what you should do? You should post signs like they do at venues that says,

01:50:41 - 01:50:41 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

01:50:41 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 4:

No pictures allowed to be taken of authorized person or whatever the deal is. You could get, like, you know those...

01:50:47 - 01:50:49 | Speaker 6:

I did not sign a waiver for this.

01:50:49 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 5:

You know those, like, sleep masks? I don't... Did you just put them over your eyes?

01:50:53 - 01:50:53 | Speaker 7:

Look at that.

01:50:54 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:50:54 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 4:

That's the worst one.

01:50:55 - 01:50:57 | Speaker 7:

Okay. Okay. Look at that one.

01:50:57 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 4:

You know how you get back at him? Take a picture of him taking a duty.

01:51:03 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 6:

I've actually never seen him doing that.

01:51:05 - 01:51:07 | Speaker 4:

You've never? You kind of want to.

01:51:07 - 01:51:09 | Speaker 6:

No, I would get the itch. Actually, don't. It would ruin it.

01:51:09 - 01:51:14 | Speaker 4:

I think some of those photos, though, are actually nice photos. You're going to want those someday.

01:51:15 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 7:

No.

01:51:16 - 01:51:24 | Speaker 4:

You're going to want those in about another few years when you can't sleep. When you're at a point where you're like, I can't sleep. Put those right next to the boudoir photos.

01:51:25 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 5:

There you go.

01:51:25 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:51:26 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 4:

Danielle, what's up?

01:51:29 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey. So, first time, long time. Hey. Danielle, it's on the phone. So, my husband, I'm super jumpy, and my husband has, like, an entire compilation video that he posted on TikTok of just all my jump scares, and I'll be, like, on the toilet in some of them. I mean, it's awful. He has no shame.

01:51:54 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 4:

Are you, like, are you peeing or are you pooping?

01:51:57 - 01:52:07 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't matter. Well, I don't know because I'm sitting down. I don't remember, like, exactly what I was doing, right? I mean, well, you can't see anything. I mean, I'm, like, sitting down.

01:52:08 - 01:52:08 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:52:08 - 01:52:09 | Speaker 2:

You know, my lap's covered.

01:52:09 - 01:52:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. But so you think it's weird that he's doing this? Like, Shannon thinks it's weird when Wes does that?

01:52:15 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I, he loves it. I mean, I'll know he's directly behind me and I'll still scream bloody murder, like, if he says something. So he's got an entire video Of me just like jumping and screaming

01:52:27 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 4:

Okay this is weird Ready for this one Danielle 248 just texted in and said They went on a date with a guy They slept together and were naked In bed woke up the next morning And he took 25 photos of me naked

01:52:41 - 01:52:48 | Speaker 7:

Oh my god Like that's That is not so creepy That is very creepy

01:52:48 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 4:

That's big time creepy Why do you need 25

01:52:52 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 7:

you're sweet and twisted like a candy cane all right that's okay merry christmas from mojo in

01:52:59 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 4:

the morning the topic that we're going to do right now is what's my neighbor hiding uh because cav had to be nosy to see what his neighbor was hiding in their garage that's not true how did

01:53:14 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 5:

you then spot it so i've been uh this week in particular i think it has something to do with disney i was like walking a lot and i was like you know what we need to lose some weight let's start walking so i've been going to like our little complex gym and when i leave there i take the long walk home so on my journey yesterday i walked past one of my neighbors who had his garage up and i look in the garage and i see this inflatable hot tub and i'm like is that a hot tub didn't know the guy was in the garage he's like yeah oh you said it out loud i thought in your head you're like no this is like a an audible reaction i'm like is that a hot tub like just kind of like you know one of those things didn't see him he's like yes i took you can get them from amazon they're like four hundred dollars yeah i was like oh he kept like walking because i didn't know he was there didn't want to engage in conversation but he has a hot tub in his garage

01:54:15 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

01:54:15 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 6:

You can get them at Costco. You know people who have these? I want one. Remember the Soul Spa thing? Yes. I want one so bad.

01:54:22 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 5:

Let's go in on one. Wait.

01:54:23 - 01:54:24 | Speaker 4:

We keep it at my house and we keep it.

01:54:24 - 01:54:27 | Speaker 6:

Why does he keep it in his garage? Let's go in your house to go hot tubbing.

01:54:27 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 4:

Why does he not have a hot tub like on his back patio or deck? Don't you guys have those? We don't have it.

01:54:31 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 5:

No, not in our... We don't have that much space.

01:54:33 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 4:

Do you have a place where you can stand or sit or no? Nah.

01:54:36 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 7:

So that's the only place he could have it. That's not weird.

01:54:40 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 4:

So he's got a hot tub just in his garage? In his garage.

01:54:43 - 01:54:49 | Speaker 7:

But it's inflatable. So he can deflate it when he's done.

01:54:49 - 01:54:51 | Speaker 4:

That's an interesting place, though, isn't it?

01:54:52 - 01:54:53 | Speaker 7:

Where is he going to do it? In his kitchen?

01:54:53 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, no, I figured that he'd have an outdoor hot tub. When I think of a hot tub, I think of outdoors. I don't think of an indoor.

01:55:00 - 01:55:01 | Speaker 3:

A bathtub is an indoor one.

01:55:01 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 2:

I feel, but to Shannon's point, it is the only available space that he can have it. I'm not opposed to it. I kind of want one. Yeah. Okay. That's the end of my sentence.

01:55:16 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 3:

All right. So what is, so you're nosy enough to look inside your neighbor's garage.

01:55:22 - 01:55:27 | Speaker 2:

It's not like I went snooping. I'm walking around. Yeah, the garage is wide open. You look in.

01:55:28 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 3:

So, okay, do you do that? If you're walking down the street, do you look up inside their house? Yes. Because looking in their garage is like looking in their windows.

01:55:36 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Did you see the photo that Wes posted of me earlier this week? We were on a walk, and I saw that somebody in my neighborhood is getting one of those splash pools put in their backyard. You know what those are? They're like pools. They're in-ground pools, but they're just teeny. They're not like the big, expensive pool. They're just small. and I wanted to see what it looked like but their yard is like has trees lining the side so I just stuck my head right through the bushes and all you saw was my booty he's like no you're not I'm like I want to see what it looks like

01:56:15 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 3:

I think it's funny though do you feel like they're hiding it from you in both cases do you think that the neighbor should just invite the whole neighborhood over to his hot tub or Shannon to this new

01:56:29 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 4:

splash? Oh, I hope they invite me to their pool, but no. Are you that friendly

01:56:33 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 3:

with them? Like, do you talk to them? I couldn't even tell you

01:56:35 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 4:

their names. Really?

01:56:36 - 01:57:09 | Speaker 3:

So, when you put in, so if you're a neighbor and you have, because I remember that the one time that we invited people over that we really didn't know in our neighborhood was when we had our son's graduation party from high school. We invited people over because we knew that we were going to have a lot of people in the neighborhood, you know, probably upset about the amount of cars and stuff that were going to be there. So we figured we'll invite them over and make them less upset over the deal. But if you put a pool in or do any kind of construction things to your house, do you feel like you should let the neighbors all come over to enjoy

01:57:09 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 2:

it? No. No. No? If they didn't pay for it, then you don't get to

01:57:12 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 3:

enjoy it for free. No. No? And you also cannot ask. Because you're bad neighbors. Do you know the Cannon guy in my neighborhood, remember the guy who told you that shoots off the Cannon? The Cannon guy had a party at his house unfortunately we were not able to make it because we had something that night but he had everybody over to to uh invite him over after uh he had done a bunch of uh

01:57:33 - 01:57:42 | Speaker 2:

construction to his house that's because he doesn't want you to call the police or something like that it's like it's like you throwing a banger in your neighborhood and you don't want

01:57:42 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 3:

a noise complaint so you invite everybody i i always think that the the chaldean neighbors that light off the fireworks during, you know, it seems like all summer long, they should invite you over for their fireworks display because they're keeping you up all night with these damn fireworks.

01:57:58 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 1:

I mean.

01:57:58 - 01:58:02 | Speaker 3:

On Friday, Saturday nights. What's going on, Jamie? How you doing?

01:58:03 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 1:

I'm good, and you guys?

01:58:04 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic, Jamie. What's up?

01:58:06 - 01:58:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I just recently moved in with my boyfriend and his two kids. I mean, it's been about a year and a half now, but whatever. And I never seen the neighbors. So I would think, you know, maybe the husband killed his wife and kids and, you know, ID channels. And, you know, I walk around the neighborhood and I tell my daughter, go make friends with those kids because they got a pool in their garage. And I think that's cool. So I want to join in, too.

01:58:32 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 3:

Really? Okay. So do you tell your kids specifically to go make friends with them so that you guys can be invited over?

01:58:40 - 01:58:46 | Speaker 1:

Yes, because, you know, you got to meet the parents if the kids want to go inside the house and, you know, stuff like that.

01:58:46 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Can I ask a question? Why are they putting a pool in the garage? Again, why is that?

01:58:53 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 1:

It's HOH policy. Oh, so... HOH, sorry.

01:58:57 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you... But can't you get in trouble for having it in your garage?

01:59:01 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 1:

I don't think so, because it's not... You're going to flood that garage. But that's your house.

01:59:07 - 01:59:08 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:59:08 - 01:59:11 | Speaker 1:

Not their land, I guess. I don't know. It's stupid. I think it's dumb.

01:59:12 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:59:13 - 01:59:14 | Speaker 1:

There's just a pool, but whatever.

01:59:14 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I guess if you don't want to get sun, you know, that's one place to put it is in your garage. But then you have no place to put your cars.

01:59:22 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 1:

Right. But, I mean, we have good driveways out here. Like, I think you can probably fit two cars comfortably in the driveway.

01:59:30 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 3:

I've often thought that that would be a great bet is to do it for the summertime where we have just random people walk door to door and say, can I take a dip in your pool? Oh, my God. And just see what people do. Like, randomly.

01:59:41 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 1:

I would be that person to just knock on someone's door.

01:59:46 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 3:

Kevin, would this be rude? What if you had a grill on your back patio? Maybe for you, Jamie, too. If you have a grill on your back patio and a neighbor's grill, the propane goes out. Is it rude to go?

02:00:00 - 02:00:21 | Speaker 6:

over to your neighbor's house and use their grill if they're not home yes yeah unless you're really cool with them like that so so you have to be friendly with them in order to do that otherwise you're you're illegally using their grill you're saying yeah you've had to to grill together at a

02:00:21 - 02:00:33 | Speaker 5:

certain point when i say grill together like i've had to invite you over for some of my meat Or vice versa. This can't be your first interaction with my grill. It's me not even there.

02:00:33 - 02:00:38 | Speaker 6:

But what if it's an emergency? What if it's an emergency and I half-grilled my steaks?

02:00:38 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 5:

That's on you.

02:00:40 - 02:00:43 | Speaker 4:

She wanted to have a piece of my meat. You're just going to have to share.

02:00:43 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 6:

Thanks. Pan Siri.

02:00:45 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 4:

Y'all are mean.

02:00:46 - 02:01:03 | Speaker 6:

But I think I would have no problem. If my neighbors needed just a little bit of a grill, I'd let them go use mine, even if I don't talk to them that much. I would feel neighborly. Like, if I came home and I was surprised to see them back there, but if they tried to knock on the door and I wasn't home, I don't care if they used my propane.

02:01:03 - 02:01:22 | Speaker 5:

That's exactly what happened. This is what would happen. Your neighbor would fry up their grill. Boom, propane gone. You're, you know, wherever you are, you're not there. They come over, they use their grill. When they come to tell you, you'll be like, okay. And then you would go in the house and you would talk crazy to me. That's a free invitation. And people would be like, okay.

02:01:22 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 4:

i sound like that

02:01:28 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 6:

oh my gosh what's what's going on lisa how are you good how are you guys we're doing good kevin's trying to do an imitation of me right now say hello to but by the way mojo say hello to lisa

02:01:44 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 4:

all i got is the okay what's happening hey i just wanted to say i have my hot tub in my garage as well for privacy and then in the winter i don't get snowed on

02:01:58 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 3:

i've got i've got a mojo greeting yes uh it would be hey buddy

02:02:04 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 2:

no if it's lisa i would be like hey liza It would just be totally the wrong damn name. It would be, hey, Barbara.

02:02:16 - 02:02:25 | Speaker 6:

Lisa, if I used your grill and didn't ask you for permission because my propane ran out, would you be upset with me?

02:02:26 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 4:

Only if you didn't leave a steak for me. Yes.

02:02:30 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 6:

I'd let you have a bite of my meat. You'd have no problem with that.

02:02:34 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 4:

I thought you were going there, my job.

02:02:35 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 6:

I was dumb. I went for the easy joke on that one.

02:02:38 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 4:

I'm not surprised that he went for the meat joke.

02:02:41 - 02:02:41 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

02:02:45 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 1:

Just think of him as the idiot grocery bagger of the Channel 955 supermarket. And he's a lot less offensive. Mojo in the morning. Channel 955.

02:02:54 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 6:

Megan, you said something yesterday that got me shocked. You were talking about how, and I know you live downtown Detroit.

02:03:01 - 02:03:01 | Speaker 3:

I do.

02:03:02 - 02:03:04 | Speaker 6:

You go to Canada to do your shopping?

02:03:04 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Bro, okay, can I, oh my God. I absolutely do this. I get so frustrated sometimes at the stores that you just assume would be everywhere that aren't in the Detroit area. And it's the most random places. I'm shocked that there's no Yankee Candles around here. The closest Yankee Candle to my apartment in downtown Detroit is the one in Leavis Commons in Perrysburg in Ohio. So it's so far away. And then Bath and Body Works. There's like none close to downtown Detroit unless you go into Canada. So the thing I've been doing recently is just crossing the border to go shopping because it's easier for me to cross the border to another country than it is to drive out to the suburbs. Okay, two things.

02:03:48 - 02:03:59 | Speaker 2:

Three things. One, there is one right down the street from the radio station at 12 Oak Small. Two, I passed three of them on my way home. And three, why are you not getting me Smarties and Wonder Bars when you go to Canada?

02:03:59 - 02:04:12 | Speaker 3:

one you think that i remember to do any of my errands on the way home like a normal person no i wake up on a saturday stressed at my to-do list thinking ah i shouldn't have done this on

02:04:12 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 6:

the way home here's the interesting for anybody who's listening to us on the iheart app or if you're in west michigan or even you know toledo going to canada is what a quick drive over the

02:04:23 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 3:

bridge or through the tunnel i'm not kidding you i could drive from my parking garage to canada

02:04:28 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 6:

in about two and a half minutes okay really but but how getting across and having to deal with all

02:04:33 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 3:

the border stuff here's the thing i feel like i've been very lucky now every time i've gone over to go shopping i get through in about five minutes so truly a shorter but every once in a while i'm waiting for the butthole pucker moment where you're stuck in line you can't turn around and you're there for two hours like when lydia and i crossed the border and we were stuck for two hours. Yeah, that's

02:04:56 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 6:

the one that sucks. And then you find out that there's you know

02:05:00 - 02:05:29 | Speaker 1:

issues on the bridge with all the trucks and stuff like that. Okay. So here's the deal. How, what is the craziest distance that you go to shop at one store? I want to know that. Cause I know a lot of people that will all go up to the outlet stores and they try, they travel, but they'll go for like one or two things. They don't go and make a day of it. Like, I don't like, why are you going to do, you know, what's the outlet store that's on his way to the Lansing, not Bertrand. That's a, what is that? Is that what it is? The hanger ones? Yeah.

02:05:29 - 02:05:31 | Speaker 2:

No, the Tanger ones are the part. Tanger ones?

02:05:32 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 1:

But there's ones on the way on 96, just off of that thing?

02:05:35 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:05:36 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 1:

Like, if you're somebody that lives in, I don't know, Bloomfield Hills or if you live in Grand Rapids, are you driving on that 96 to go there to go shopping at Polo or whatever it is that's there? Right. Just for, like, a couple of shirts or something like that? 844 Mojo Live. What's the shirt? What's the shirt that's all the dogs? They always have that store that's there. and it's like Top Dogs or Bob Dog. Oh, I know what you're talking about.

02:06:01 - 02:06:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know the name of that.

02:06:02 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 1:

I always see those. For some reason, those are all, when I think of outlet malls, I think of that kind of a store.

02:06:07 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. But Toronto has some good outlets. I don't shop like that.

02:06:11 - 02:06:16 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I don't go shopping. To me, if I'm shopping, I'd rather just go online. Thanks. What's up, Zach?

02:06:17 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. Good morning. How you doing? Good morning. Good.

02:06:19 - 02:06:21 | Speaker 1:

Do you need anything in Canada? Megan's going.

02:06:23 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 4:

I've actually never been to Canada. I've always loved to go to the bridge, at least.

02:06:27 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well she's shopping probably on Saturday You can probably catch her there shopping What's going on with you? How far do you travel?

02:06:36 - 02:07:06 | Speaker 4:

So I actually traveled Not to go shopping But I actually traveled three hours one time Just to get a hot dog From Carl Hardy's Which, it was like the all-American hot dog Burger, right? They had the hot dog on the burger I made that trip out They didn't even have it anymore That's awful Yeah, so it was like a three-hour drive. I mean, it was with my wife, so, you know, it wasn't a wasted trip, right? I'm not going to lie to you.

02:07:06 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 1:

If food was part of this, I would say that this topic's over with because I definitely did the whole driving to go get Portillo's before it opened up here in Fort Wayne. One of the closest ones there.

02:07:16 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 2:

I drove two hours one way to a Mellow Mushroom one time. How would I have y'all? Those are so good, though. I love Mellow Mushroom.

02:07:23 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. It sounded good. It looked good and everything. and I made the trip, but you know what?

02:07:29 - 02:07:31 | Speaker 1:

You needed to call ahead to find out what they had.

02:07:31 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 4:

Did you get anything or did you just leave at that point? No, I got something. I wasn't going to make it that bad of a trip. I was still hungry. I was still mouth-loving.

02:07:40 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 1:

He left and he went to McDonald's and got a quarter pounder of cheese. Thanks for the call, buddy. Appreciate it. Yeah, y'all have a good weekend. Texters, 95500. We got one here, 517. Mojo, why would you say that? I go to the outlets all the time just to go get underwear. it's cheaper there people like and i guess what if you're 517 you you're maybe a little closer to uh to the outlet i i find it so funny though like to me if i go to the mall it's usually if i need one-off things it's usually get something at the apple store that's it like i don't ever for me

02:08:14 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 2:

it's returns it's okay it's online returns to the store that i order from online but if i go

02:08:20 - 02:08:25 | Speaker 1:

if i'm going to get something like i build up a list before i even go to just the regular mall

02:08:25 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 3:

that's by the house what's up adam hey what's going on mojo nothing much what's happening good morning uh yeah my family always had a weird tradition where food is always the one thing we always travel for um i'm from toledo myself go megan mick yeah um and uh and uh one thing yeah we travel for like we go to a couple restaurants there are rodizio in columbus Amazing food. There used to be a restaurant in Canada I would love to travel to called Blue Daniels. Sadly, it's closed and no longer open.

02:09:01 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:09:02 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 3:

They're like the best Hungarian food you could find around here.

02:09:04 - 02:09:05 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:09:05 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 3:

And one of my favorite also places is to travel to Metzger's in Ann Arbor. I would 100% recommend going there if you like German food.

02:09:12 - 02:09:30 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Can I tell you something about going to Canada? You know how they always ask you, what did you come over for? What did you do? I feel bad when I say it's just for food, like for dinner. like I remember tunnel barbecue is always the place that we would love to go to Chelsea and I we loved it so much the food was awesome but we'd be like why did you guys Cresper we went and got ribs you know

02:09:30 - 02:09:35 | Speaker 3:

and they always look at you funny too like what do you mean

02:09:35 - 02:09:39 | Speaker 1:

all the way over here for that thanks for the call Adam I appreciate it

02:09:39 - 02:09:40 | Speaker 3:

yeah I'm doing good

02:09:40 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 1:

alright so just Bath and Body Works you'll go all the way to Canada just for Bath and Body Works

02:09:44 - 02:09:45 | Speaker 2:

yeah I need my plugins

02:09:45 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 1:

is the packaging different

02:09:48 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 2:

for all flowers No, I literally, I live for like wallflowers and I don't want to, they change their sense all the time. I don't want to buy them online and then hate them because they're kind of expensive and

02:10:00 - 02:10:07 | Speaker 6:

And then you just got to go do some sniffing. I'm going to go visit my future country because my priorities is to marry somebody that's Canadian.

02:10:08 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Alex, this is a legit one. We just talk about this all the time. But, Alex, you would travel for Trader Joe's?

02:10:14 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah, 100%. I travel an hour to an hour and a half for Trader Joe's. Also, first-time listener. Yes! Alex, I would do the same if there wasn't one by me. Alex, are you from the Toledo area? I am. It's so sad. I drive either to Ann Arbor or I'll drive back to Lakewood. Stadium Drive is the closest one.

02:10:36 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 3:

But I heard Toledo's getting Trader Joe's.

02:10:39 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 6:

Nope.

02:10:39 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:10:40 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 6:

No. It drives me nuts. You should have put it in. What's that market downtown? Oh, shoot.

02:10:48 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 3:

German. No shop. No.

02:10:50 - 02:10:51 | Speaker 6:

Lippy glasses.

02:10:52 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 3:

Can I be honest with you, though? I've heard a rumor that Trader Joe's is going to Toledo.

02:10:55 - 02:10:58 | Speaker 6:

That rumor has been going around. No. But I heard.

02:10:58 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 3:

I heard a legit one. What's up, Amanda? Hi, Amanda. Amanda traveled six hours for what?

02:11:08 - 02:11:09 | Speaker 5:

A what?

02:11:10 - 02:11:15 | Speaker 3:

A what? Amanda, can you hear us? I want a taco.

02:11:16 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 5:

Yes, hello?

02:11:17 - 02:11:18 | Speaker 3:

You heard her say taco? I didn't hear her say taco.

02:11:18 - 02:11:20 | Speaker 5:

No, somebody in the car wants a taco.

02:11:20 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 3:

She wants a taco. Oh. What did you travel?

02:11:22 - 02:11:24 | Speaker 5:

A one-pound taco.

02:11:24 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she did travel for a taco. Oh. You traveled six hours for a taco?

02:11:29 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 5:

Yes. We went from Ohio to Indiana, but we had to go through Kentucky. We both worked third shift, and we got off work and drove six hours for a one-pound taco.

02:11:38 - 02:11:40 | Speaker 3:

One town or one-pound taco?

02:11:41 - 02:11:43 | Speaker 5:

One-pound taco.

02:11:43 - 02:11:45 | Speaker 3:

A one-pound taco.

02:11:45 - 02:11:46 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my goodness.

02:11:46 - 02:11:50 | Speaker 3:

And how far did you drive for the bathroom? Jesus, man.

02:11:51 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 5:

It was very disappointing. They put french fries on it. You don't put french fries on a taco.

02:11:55 - 02:12:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, that's crazy. All right, what's up, Tyler? What does your wife do?

02:12:03 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 4:

So my wife flew to Chicago to shop at a store called Primark. Okay. And we came back the same day.

02:12:13 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 3:

So on a plane and off a plane in the same day, just going shopping on the Mag Mile?

02:12:19 - 02:12:21 | Speaker 4:

And two empty suitcases.

02:12:21 - 02:12:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Jesus. But they were full on the way back.

02:12:25 - 02:12:26 | Speaker 4:

I love her. I want to be her friend.

02:12:27 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 3:

Tiffany, how far did you drive? Tiffany, everybody's got effed up phones today. Oh, this is Cam. Hello, I love this. Hi. The number that you dialed is no longer in service. Tiffany? Hi, where did you drive?

02:12:50 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 6:

Tiffany, this better be a good call.

02:13:07 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 3:

It better be something good. What did you drive? You drove two and a half hours for what? White Castle's Burgers. Oh, jeez. Oh, my God. Are you serious?

02:13:16 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I did. I grew up in Hammond, by Hammond, Indiana. and we had to drive down there because I'm in Michigan now. We don't have them.

02:13:23 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Well, you got them here in Michigan now. They're here.

02:13:26 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, not where we're at, but it's closer to go to Indiana.

02:13:29 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 3:

Can I be honest with you? West Michigan, you guys are lucky you don't have enough of those White Castles. You guys all have good digestive systems.

02:13:36 - 02:13:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:13:37 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Be good.

02:13:38 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 1:

When you grow up on it, you need it.

02:13:39 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 3:

I know. I know. I grew up in Chicago, so I grew up with White Castle, and I was like, oh, God, it's like a Roto-Rooter.

02:13:46 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 1:

White Castle and Portillo's.

02:13:47 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 3:

It's a Roto-Rooter in your belly.

02:13:50 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 2:

W-K-Q-I Detroit, W-S-N-X, Muskegon, Grand Rapids, W-V-K-S, Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. Live.

02:14:04 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Back to Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning, as holidays fast approach, Chelsea and I have done a little spending freeze. We're on a spending freeze right now. You know how that businesses have hiring freezes when they come into their fourth quarter? We're going on a spending freeze because we know that the holidays are coming up. So both of us have talked to each other about, all right, we're mutually going to not order stuff that we not necessarily need. You know, sometimes you go on Amazon, you need something, and then you get like five or six other things. Or going to Target, you know, or Costco, you don't go in there and buy like 8,000 things. for some reason it always seems like costco costs a hundred dollars no matter what you get minimum yeah when all you need is you know a couple things of water or whatever so we've kind of been on this for

02:15:00 - 02:16:19 | Speaker 1:

little bit. And then I got busted. And I wanted to ask this question. Are there any people that have ever busted their husband or wife spending money in buying stuff that they should not have been buying? And where did you catch them doing this? Because everything was going good until my cover got busted and i've been secretly buying things and shopping and had it delivered to my buddy's house and chelsea busted me when the dumbass text me a picture of my packages sitting on his front porch and she saw and this happens to me because i have my my iMessage on my phone connected to everything yeah i have an ipad that's hanging on the wall in our kitchen that's a way for us to put on our you know calendars and stuff well and also music and stuff like we have a sonos you know thing yeah so you play music my ipad is the one connected to that so it pops up on the thing i didn't realize this yeah and all you see is my friend texting me a picture of packages and chelsea looks and goes what is that clicks on the thing you can see that i have been sending my packages over to his house so that i wouldn't get busted uh doing any uh any kind of spending that

02:16:19 - 02:16:57 | Speaker 4:

shouldn't have been doing well that's like when wes and i had the conversation the other night about what to do with our finances like are we going to merge stuff are we keeping separate cards what are we doing with like you know the mortgage and the house and all those sorts of things when he was like i feel like we should just have like a you know one same credit card and we can pay it off with our different accounts i was like absolutely not because i i am we had to like label ourselves we're reading this book and it kind of like walks you through like appropriate conversations to to talk about your finances and it was like label the spender in your relationship label the saver and he's like we don't even need to read this chapter we know

02:16:57 - 02:17:05 | Speaker 1:

who's who you're the spender when you say label them just pick out who is the one or do you

02:17:05 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 4:

actually give them a name no like you're supposed to like yeah like you're supposed to oh yeah there's a spender he just he literally just sent me this morning look at this this spreadsheet called Monthly Expenses Sheet. I am not opening that up. Oh, my God. That's scary. That's a certain type of individual.

02:17:25 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 1:

People who are able to live that kind of life.

02:17:28 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 4:

He's so good about it. He's so good about it.

02:17:31 - 02:17:53 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys have a hiding spot, too, for this stuff? I'm not even talking about a hiding spot for your kids or a family member from seeing a gift that maybe you bought them, but do you ever have to hide your spending of what you do? Do you guys ever go to the store and then walk into your house and you have to throw your receipt away so that they don't see the whole long receipt that you have?

02:17:53 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 4:

See, I don't even do that because so many receipts now, they just email them to you or whatever. Oh, I don't do that. But my tactic, and he now knows that I do that, is he'll be like, oh, I really like this vest today. I really like your vest. Is that new? And I'm like, oh, it's so old. I just never wear it. And I'm like, I just got to use it.

02:18:10 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 1:

Liar. Liar. what do you do with the what do you do when you have to take a tag off of something and then you

02:18:15 - 02:18:21 | Speaker 4:

have to throw it in the garbage outside of the garage okay the outside garbage vivian what's

02:18:21 - 02:18:27 | Speaker 1:

going on we have any secret shopping going on in that house vivian okay it's so silly you guys

02:18:27 - 02:19:09 | Speaker 2:

good morning by the way um i so when like the dubai chocolate craze was literally crazy um i was addicted to going and buying it and it was like 25 a bar and my husband's like you're insane for spending 25 on chocolate so he works for a local dealership and they have like these spin cards that they get money loaded onto and i have it i didn't think he had access to it so i was going and buying a dubai chocolate bar every single day for four consecutive days until he was like hey um by the way all these charges are coming up i think they're charging you extra And then I have to fess up. And I'm like, no, no, no, don't call them. Don't call them.

02:19:10 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 4:

I have not had one of those yet, by the way.

02:19:15 - 02:19:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh, they're so good. That's what I've heard.

02:19:18 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 4:

What do they cost? Chocomania. Is that where you got it?

02:19:21 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 2:

I like Chocomania personally. Yeah, that's what I've heard.

02:19:25 - 02:19:26 | Speaker 1:

What's it cost?

02:19:27 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 2:

It's like $22 a bar.

02:19:29 - 02:19:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. For like a bar that you could get a Hershey's bar for like $8?

02:19:33 - 02:19:41 | Speaker 3:

No, but this is supposed to be like very good. Yeah, and isn't it true that they were, like, super cheap right before they blew up on TikTok?

02:19:42 - 02:19:49 | Speaker 2:

Yes, they were. People were, yeah, the creeds got out, and then all of a sudden people were charging, like, $25 to $30 a bar.

02:19:49 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 1:

I know what she's doing.

02:19:51 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 2:

Insanity.

02:19:52 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 1:

Don't do it, Olivia. Don't do it, Vivian. Don't do it. By the way, I want to know how many people have to hide their game.

02:20:00 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 6:

gambling from their spouse does your spouse know like did your significant other know how much

02:20:05 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 4:

you know draft kings or i have a phone number for you if that's yeah yeah no but i wonder how many

02:20:11 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 6:

people do it chelsea didn't realize that i was gambling every now and again during football season and i only did like i put 500 in there and it's the same 500 believe me i'm not joking when i say this or not lying because most people lie oh yeah no i'm telling you it's i'm not doing But when she saw that I was putting money on a game a few weeks ago, I was so upset.

02:20:30 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 5:

These women can know based on how good their guy is after the game. I guarantee he's much happier when he hits. Olivia, what's up?

02:20:39 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 4:

So one night, my husband's phone was going off, going off. It was interrupting my sleep, so I grabbed it to silence it. And I noticed at the top of it that he had a bunch of notifications from his bank. And I opened it up. And in the beginning of December, he had absentmindedly spent over $400 on those online games that you just play on your phone where you can buy, like, bundle packages. And when I woke him up the next morning, I was like, so, hey, I want to go do some Christmas shopping. You got any money for it? And he just looked like a deer caught in the headlights and was like, um, actually.

02:21:19 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 6:

What games are we talking about here? Are we talking about, like, gambling games? Or are we talking about game games?

02:21:29 - 02:21:42 | Speaker 4:

Nope, just literally the games that you sit on your toilet and play. Oh, jeez. And they cost a lot of money, huh? Yeah, you need, like, booster packs when your life has run out. And considering he can sit on the toilet for, like, an hour.

02:21:45 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 6:

Voice Disguise B. Initial B, are you there?

02:21:48 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

02:21:49 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 6:

What's going on? We're talking about hiding your spending. What did you do?

02:21:53 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I have a direct deposit for my work set up, but $120 of that every week goes into my Cash App account. So that way my wife doesn't see it, and all the rest of her money goes into our account that we shared. And then when I order packages, I have them sent to my work.

02:22:08 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 6:

Oh, that's good.

02:22:11 - 02:22:15 | Speaker 1:

She doesn't like seeing that I spend things on hobbies. She doesn't agree with it.

02:22:15 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 6:

By the way, she's going to think it's worse than you just buying a package. She's going to think that you're buying, like, hookers or something.

02:22:20 - 02:22:20 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy.

02:22:21 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you better be careful. By the way, your voice is, guys. But you know what is not voice, guys? Your blinker. She will hear this blinker and go, was that you with Mojo in the morning? Mindy, what's going on? Hi.

02:22:35 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 3:

Hello.

02:22:36 - 02:22:37 | Speaker 6:

Hi. What did you catch your guy doing?

02:22:39 - 02:23:02 | Speaker 3:

So when I go on business trips, I work for a retailer as a store manager, and I go on business trips yearly. He buys new logging equipment and property and tries to hide it until I find out about a month later. Property? Wait, he buys property without asking you first? Oh, yeah. We've been together almost 10 years, and I don't believe in getting married, so it stresses him out. So he's like, I'm just going to make myself feel better, and I'll buy a new piece of property to build a shop.

02:23:02 - 02:23:05 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. How much money are we talking about?

02:23:06 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 3:

Depending on the equipment, he spends anywhere from $50 to $80. That's a weather. $1,000. That's a weather. Oh, yeah. What's going on?

02:23:13 - 02:23:16 | Speaker 6:

But is he making money when he sells them?

02:23:17 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 3:

He doesn't sell anything. Oh, really? He builds buildings for his logging business.

02:23:22 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 6:

Okay. That's wild. I have no idea what a logging business is, but that sounds like the man is making money with this stuff.

02:23:29 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 3:

He sells trees. He cuts trees down.

02:23:31 - 02:23:33 | Speaker 6:

Okay. All right.

02:23:33 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 3:

And we have two guys that work for us, and we own eight pieces of equipment.

02:23:37 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 6:

By the way, I got to tell you, the guys, anytime I've needed a tree removed, your guys charge so much money. No wonder why I know they're buying property. It's so expensive. Alex, what was hidden?

02:23:50 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 2:

A motorcycle. Good morning.

02:23:52 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Wait, he hid a motorcycle from you?

02:23:55 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, for two weeks.

02:23:58 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Where was he keeping it?

02:24:00 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

In the garage. I don't know.

02:24:02 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 6:

You didn't notice it?

02:24:05 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

No, he woke me up from work. I work nights. He woke me up one day at 4 p.m., started it, and I go, who is that? He's like, oh, that's mine.

02:24:15 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh.

02:24:16 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

He's at it for four weeks.

02:24:18 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. That's craziness. How do you hide a motorcycle? You've got to go into the garage a little bit more. Kendra. Wait, hold on. This is a good one. Kendra.

02:24:26 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:24:27 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 6:

Before I move on, what did you find out that your guy was hiding, spending money on?

02:24:32 - 02:24:40 | Speaker 3:

So he's my ex-guy now, but you had made the comment about, oh, she might think you're spending money on hookers. So I was at my bachelorette party. I came back and found out he was spending his money on hookers.

02:24:40 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Oh, man. Yeah. How did you notice this and how much money?

02:24:46 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 3:

It was at least a couple hundred when I had, like, noticed, but I stopped looking after I saw that and was just like, no, I'm good. He just didn't have, like, money to pay for the stuff for the wedding when he should have had the money.

02:24:56 - 02:24:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. A couple hundred dollars seems like a cheap hooker.

02:24:59 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. know right that's what i was thinking but i stopped looking after i saw a little bit and

02:25:03 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 1:

was like nope i'm good what does a hooker show up on expenses as does it say her name or what

02:25:07 - 02:25:11 | Speaker 3:

does it say yeah it showed up as a cash app and like the girl's name was like jenny something

02:25:11 - 02:26:24 | Speaker 1:

oh geez oh my god yeah that would be one of those ones where it's like okay what the hell was he getting for her for two hundred dollars did you ever ask no i literally i did not want to know the details of that yeah you just kind of left them that's good good for you yes thank you well Thank God you guys didn't get married. Right? Thank God. All right. We'll see ya. Tis the season for some Mojo. Fa la la la la. La la la la. This is Mojo in the Morning. All righty. It's Mojo in the Morning show. It's good to have you guys here with us. Happy December. Wow. Look at that. December the 2nd, 2024. On this day, the Lord has made. Let us give joy, rejoice and be, let us, I don't know. We've got to make sure that we're all in positions and ready to go, because I want to make sure this one's the best ever. And I know Lydia pours her heart and soul into this thing. Are we all set?

02:26:25 - 02:26:25 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:26:25 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 1:

We are all set? You, by the way, I give it up for Lydia. Yeah. Yes, Lydia. Thank you. She has. Hold on. There you go. Yes. I give her the bigger plug.

02:26:36 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 2:

She pours herself into breaking and entering Christmas every year. That's right. And her mom. Her whole family gets involved. Mm-hmm.

02:26:41 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 1:

Well, and I'm going to say this, that I don't know the facts on this one here, but if I am at this point right, we have more letters right now at this point than we did all of last year.

02:26:54 - 02:26:57 | Speaker 2:

Since I've started doing it, this is the most I've ever seen.

02:26:57 - 02:27:12 | Speaker 1:

and it's mojoswish.org you can send us a letter that does not mean that your wish is not going to be granted you would not believe how many people have gotten in touch with us and said hey i want to make a donation lydia what was the mortgage company that uh called out of the blue

02:27:12 - 02:27:16 | Speaker 2:

and said that they wanted to make a donation to us that was swift home loans um owned by andy

02:27:16 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 1:

newman andy thank you i mean i know he's gonna he's gonna come in studio right and do like a big check presentation yeah next week can we just say how much he gave just because i was blown away by us i've you know i've heard andy's commercials on the radio and stuff and i've i've gotten a chance out over the years to hear about him i've never gotten a chance to personally know him and

02:27:38 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 2:

to tell this how much money they donate fifty thousand dollars are you kidding me oh man that's amazing wait is that our biggest donation to date so far this year i believe so yeah isn't that crazy

02:27:51 - 02:28:40 | Speaker 1:

thank you yeah and and more keep coming in and i'm gonna say this to you the fifty thousand dollar donations are fantastic but literally when little kids call us up or their parents call us up and say that my son has been saving money up and he wants to donate to a charity he's been like doing all kinds of like returnable donations and stuff like that and we get a kid that will call us up and say that he's got like seven dollars and 29 cents or something like that i will say why could you not get $7.50? No, I will say that's awesome. It's amazing. It's just unbelievable that we get people that care that much and they're caring about you and they're caring about all of us to make sure that we all have a nice Christmas. All right. KP's hosting this year out on the streets. KP, you've got to be quiet when you're out there. I'm sorry, so I've got to be quiet too. Hi, KP.

02:28:41 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 3:

Hi, guys. How are we? What are we doing? Just waiting?

02:28:44 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 1:

No, we're going to get going. Are you in position? Are you ready to go?

02:28:48 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 3:

We are. We have about 30 people standing outside of this house right now. And all of these people have been touched by Shannon. And she's been a nurse for over 15 years.

02:28:59 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 1:

Wow. And wait, so you were worried this morning. You're like, the promo staff, they only scheduled one promo person, Alyssa, to be there with you. And we were worried about this. You know what? God does amazing things. He brought 30 people there to be there for today.

02:29:14 - 02:29:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes. We're very much supported right now.

02:29:17 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 1:

Annie, can we say hi to Annie real quick? Yes. Who wrote the letter? Annie. Hey, Annie. Hi, Mojo. I got to tell you, Annie, I'm going to cry just hearing you right now, your voice.

02:29:29 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 3:

You're going to make me cry.

02:29:31 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 1:

Annie, how are you feeling today? Are you excited about what we're about to do for Shannon?

02:29:35 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 3:

I'm super excited. I'm still shocked that this is happening.

02:29:38 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 1:

All right, so here's what I want you guys to do. a lot of times people don't answer phones from out of blocked areas and all that stuff we're going to dial them up so we're going to dial home and we're going to dial Shannon and hope that Shannon picks up the phone who potentially else could be picking up the phone could it be one of the kids picking up the phone

02:29:58 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 3:

it could be her husband

02:30:00 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

As well, Justin.

02:30:00 - 02:30:27 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. So here we go. And we're on Facebook Live, by the way, too, for all who want to tune in and check it out with us. That's good. Mojo in the morning, Facebook Live. All right, here we go. Lydia is going to be making a telephone call. KP, mute your phone just for one second. I might have you unmuted in just a little bit, but we're going to call and see if Shannon will answer this early in the morning. Here we go. Hello? Hi. Hi. Is this Shannon?

02:30:28 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 1:

This is?

02:30:29 - 02:30:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Shannon. It's Mojo from Mojo in the Morning Show.

02:30:34 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Hi.

02:30:36 - 02:30:42 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Well, I hate to call you this early in the morning, but you sound wide awake, and I'm happy about that.

02:30:42 - 02:30:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. No, I'm wide awake.

02:30:45 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 3:

You got a lot of stuff to get to today, I'm sure. And we've heard about you from not just one source, but many sources who tell us that you are an amazing person. and actually one of those people wrote a letter that we're going to have them read to you for our Mojo in the Morning Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish Program.

02:31:06 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:31:06 - 02:31:09 | Speaker 3:

Take a listen to this. Listen to this love that they have for you.

02:31:10 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 1:

Dear Mojo in the Morning, My name is Annie. In this holiday season, I'd like to introduce you to Shannon Hasker, a local labor and delivery nurse and faculty instructor at Henry Ford College. Shannon is a mom to two beautiful daughters, 8-year-old Kendall and 11-year-old Brooklyn, a loving partner to her husband, a marathon runner, and an incredible mentor for many new nurses. But most importantly, she is a fighter. On August 28th, Shannon had a colonoscopy that found a mast in her colon. Ultimately, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer that has unfortunately spread to her liver, lungs, and abdominal cavity. Throughout her fight, she is still working as a professor and delivering bundles of drawers to parents. while only recently being delivered the worst news of her own life. She is receiving treatment and going to fight this. She will win this fight. We all need her beautiful light and smile in our lives. Mojo, please bring a holiday miracle to behalf of the family this year. Sincerely, Annie.

02:32:10 - 02:32:12 | Speaker 3:

02:36:01 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 2:

She's hugging all of her family and friends right now. All the Uggs, TV, everything that was on their list, we took care of. And dance list, too, by the way. Guys, there's too much.

02:36:13 - 02:36:20 | Speaker 5:

02:36:20 - 02:36:22 | Speaker 1:

Justin's...

02:36:22 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 6:

I can't even... I can't even describe the feeling I'm having right now. I'm so sorry. I can't speak.

02:36:29 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 1:

That special guy in your life, Justin, is a strong guy, but I can see that he's a little teared up too, huh?

02:36:37 - 02:36:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Yeah, this is amazing.

02:36:42 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, we heard through Annie and through all of your coworkers, we heard that there was a lot of things that you wanted to do with your family. And we made sure that all of those things were going to be possible.

02:36:57 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we know that you're a huge fan of Elevation Worship. And they're coming to town in a couple of months. And you are going to be there front and center. Okay? Your whole family is going to be there with you. And we also heard that you wanted some family photos taken. So a good friend of mine, her name is Andrea Papadopoulos from A Poppy Photography, is going to do a whole family photo shoot so that you can have those family photos that you've been wanting. Oh, thank you. And we have massage and spa treatments for you. I mean, just look around. That's all for you.

02:37:34 - 02:37:36 | Speaker 5:

We're going to get you a hydrafacial, all right?

02:37:38 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 2:

She's not saying you need it. She's just saying it's lovely. Yeah.

02:37:41 - 02:37:45 | Speaker 1:

KP, how's Annie doing? How's Annie through this whole thing?

02:37:46 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 5:

Annie, where are you? I'm okay, Mojo.

02:37:49 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 1:

You doing okay?

02:37:50 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 5:

I'm a mess here.

02:37:51 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 1:

Annie, you said in the letter everything that we're seeing in person by going into the home this morning. And for those that aren't watching it and can't see what this beautiful person has done, will you tell everybody about Shannon and how much love and life she gives to so many people?

02:38:08 - 02:38:24 | Speaker 4:

for me personally i'll say that shannon is the reason that i am a nurse today and she's the one who trained me from like becoming a student to becoming a nurse and i literally follow in her footsteps it's a hard shoe to fill but i'm trying my best

02:38:24 - 02:38:57 | Speaker 1:

well shannon i want you to know that all of this is just a taste of what you got you're now part of our family forever that means you're stuck with us you're stuck with us okay so sorry about that forever forever so so when you're ringing bells to celebrate and you are there with the kids and always there with them we want you to know that we're always there for you too you never ever don't have us in your life thank you so much you guys i appreciate it

02:38:57 - 02:39:21 | Speaker 6:

i'm so i'm in so much shock right now i can't even put this into words but thank you thank you all You've all been such a huge part of my life, even before all this, but have been such a huge support. And it's been everything that I've needed to get through even these past couple of months. But I know to get through everything else that's to come. And I'm grateful for all of you.

02:39:22 - 02:39:40 | Speaker 1:

Everybody keep Shannon and her family in your prayers. God bless you. Merry Christmas. From Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish and Mojo in the Morning. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning show. You're home of the War of the Roses. second date update and the dirty on the 30 i've been waiting for this topic um should

02:39:40 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 3:

kp date him if he's married yeah should i there's this guy who asked me out and i don't know if if this is a good idea because lydia and i did some digging and she actually found a photo of his of his wedding on the internet his wedding his wedding so

02:40:00 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 2:

was he divorced? I don't know. Is he married and divorced? I have no idea. So he asked me out and obviously I'm a female. I'm going to FBI investigate him. And I Googled him and we found a photo from

02:40:13 - 02:40:21 | Speaker 5:

his wedding last year. Last year? Yeah. So. Oh, so real recent. Yeah. So when you say his wedding,

02:40:21 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 2:

can you describe the picture? It was him and whoever this girl was in a field in a, she was in a wedding dress like it looked like this was the day of their wedding and he had professional photos done and it was this photographer posting that picture to her instagram are we sure he wasn't

02:40:40 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 5:

a model because i'm not real talk i'm done listen i'm done i'm done two words listen i've done three model shoots where i've been the quote-unquote groom yeah people have thought that

02:40:55 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 4:

I was like married. But if you post that photo you're posting a caption that's like did this great shoot for our magazine. You know

02:41:03 - 02:41:05 | Speaker 5:

what I mean? Did he post it or did you say the photographer

02:41:05 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 2:

post it? It was a photographer but let me give you this part of the story. I googled him and I found a I don't know if it was an evite or what to the wedding. Okay. So he

02:41:16 - 02:41:25 | Speaker 4:

is or was married. Well you gotta ask. I would not be getting involved in that whatsoever until I am 100% sure of what this

02:41:25 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 6:

situation is that seems messy do we know uh maybe well here's a couple of things we do we look up his entire social media and look and see if he's got the wedding photos i couldn't find his social oh really yeah what about this uh bride do we know who she is um i don't i i think we tried

02:41:45 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 2:

lydia and i tried to find uh her account but i think she's private so we couldn't say anything

02:41:49 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 6:

Here's a couple hypotheticals on this. Okay, say he did get married a year ago, got married a year ago, and now is no longer married, got divorced, or whatever the deal is. Is that too messy of a situation to start dating? That's one question. That's fresh. Is it fresh? Or, and then the other question is, what if this guy is really married? I mean, first off, do you like the guy?

02:42:12 - 02:42:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I do.

02:42:13 - 02:42:14 | Speaker 6:

What are you attracted to with him?

02:42:16 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 2:

He's just very helpful, and he's, I don't know. Wait, do you know this guy in person, or did you meet him on an app? I've already met him in real life. So I already know that he's, I don't know, most guys don't really like to plan things. He's your type? He does, yeah, he's definitely my type.

02:42:29 - 02:42:31 | Speaker 6:

Like a wedding, like planning a wedding.

02:42:31 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. I want him to plan our wedding, exactly.

02:42:34 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so what do you do? How do you know? So KP met a guy, she likes him, possibly wants to go out with him, but noticed that a year ago there were wedding photos of him out there. What does she do to try to figure out what the story is? Allison, hi.

02:42:51 - 02:43:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so I just said if you think he's married and he's married or he's probably separated, and if he's separated, he's still married. Don't get involved in it.

02:43:00 - 02:43:04 | Speaker 6:

So don't date a separated guy even though he's not in the relationship?

02:43:05 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 1:

Exactly, no. No, because like the cheetahs just did. You know, they eventually get back together. Yeah, like War of the Roses. That's all another thing. So I wouldn't get involved.

02:43:16 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 6:

How many years removed from the wedding should you wait before you start dating somebody?

02:43:23 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's a tough one.

02:43:26 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 6:

Or months. I mean, this is...

02:43:29 - 02:43:39 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I guess it just depends on the situation. Like, how long were they married before and if they have children. It just depends on the situation.

02:43:40 - 02:43:43 | Speaker 6:

Make sure there's probably legal paperwork, too. What's up, Ashley? Ashley, hi.

02:43:45 - 02:43:46 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning. How are you guys?

02:43:46 - 02:43:49 | Speaker 6:

We're great, Ashley. Welcome to the show. What's going on?

02:43:50 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 3:

I just wanted to say that if KP wanted to look up divorce records, those are public.

02:43:56 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 6:

Really?

02:43:57 - 02:43:57 | Speaker 3:

Jeez.

02:43:58 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 6:

So you can Google if they're officially divorced?

02:44:03 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, if they're officially divorced, you can Google court records based on the county that she thinks that he may have been married in.

02:44:10 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 2:

Is this like a truth finder scam where it's going to make you wait 30 seconds to find their information?

02:44:15 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 3:

No, this is real. I work for a lawyer.

02:44:19 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Maybe we have to look into this. Why didn't you just ask the guy?

02:44:22 - 02:44:23 | Speaker 4:

I know.

02:44:23 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so here's the thing.

02:44:25 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 4:

You should just ask him. Obviously, don't say that you, you know, did a deep dive of him. How do you bring that up? I found your wedding invitation from last year. But as you're getting to know somebody, like, just make that one of the questions of, like, you know. Everybody got married. Have you ever been married? I just assume nowadays everybody. Like, did you say, do you have kids? Did you talk about that? Like, those things should be questioned.

02:44:48 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 2:

It's so awkward to be, like, when you know that he has been married or maybe could have been married. How do you ask that without looking suspicious? Tell me about your past relationships.

02:44:56 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 5:

And then see if they bring it up or not. All of this is slimy.

02:45:00 - 02:45:01 | Speaker 2:

All of this is back doorways. No.

02:45:01 - 02:45:04 | Speaker 6:

Just say, hey, are you married? Yeah. Well, I would say, hey.

02:45:04 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 2:

And then make it a joke if it's over there. See, I wouldn't want it to seem like I spent six hours with my best friend. And what if it's a sensitive topic? On Google.

02:45:12 - 02:45:17 | Speaker 1:

What if it ended poorly and he's not ready to talk about, oh, I actually was married? Then you're not ready to date.

02:45:17 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 6:

Then you shouldn't be dating him, exactly. Bingo.

02:45:19 - 02:45:21 | Speaker 1:

Then I got to leave an uncomfortable conversation.

02:45:22 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 6:

I think that you just assume everybody does background checking on people that they're dating.

02:45:27 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 4:

For sure.

02:45:27 - 02:45:28 | Speaker 6:

What's up, Angela?

02:45:28 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 4:

so good morning everybody morning um family tree now if you put his name in there put his even just what state he lives in from michigan it should pull up anybody in his family people that he's married to been married to in the past then just take their name and put it in social media okay all right family tree work all the time but you already know all their social media

02:45:54 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what do you do for work that you have to use that?

02:45:58 - 02:46:05 | Speaker 4:

I work for an insurance company, and we have to outreach to members, and most of the members that we get have wrong phone numbers.

02:46:05 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 6:

So we do that to find the current number, yeah. Interesting. FamilyTree.com. Let's try that. Samantha, what do you do?

02:46:13 - 02:46:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I'm a private investigator.

02:46:15 - 02:46:16 | Speaker 6:

Hey, now.

02:46:16 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I don't got any money for you. I can't pay you. Will you do trade for mention? Okay, this is free. Totally free. If you have his name, his last name, and you know the county he lives in, you can look.

02:46:30 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 6:

You can find out all the information? What do you do? What do you look?

02:46:35 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 2:

So you can just go on the county where you believe he's married or lives in. And if you type in his name, full name, or hers, if you have it, it will show divorce records. Yeah, just the court finder.

02:46:49 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 6:

What if they're not legally officially divorced? It won't show up?

02:46:53 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 2:

So if they even filed, it will show that they filed.

02:46:57 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

02:46:58 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so you can at least see that he's in the process if he is.

02:47:02 - 02:47:12 | Speaker 6:

Why is it that I always picture that private investigators look like big hairy guys, not like beautiful women like yourself, Samantha?

02:47:13 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 2:

That's hilarious. I mean, some are. More women should be private investigators because we have the skill set.

02:47:21 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 6:

You do.

02:47:21 - 02:47:22 | Speaker 2:

We find everything.

02:47:22 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 6:

hey would you do me a favor we don't even need training will you yeah will you uh follow shannon around to see how many times a day she goes to target for me oh my god well i might i

02:47:33 - 02:47:40 | Speaker 2:

was there twice yesterday yeah can you imagine no judgment we love you samantha thank you

02:47:40 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 6:

listen love you guys love you this was actually something that we talked about if the guy is married or just recently got divorced is it okay to marry him or i'm sorry marry him date him to go on dates with him mckenzie says yes and you speak from experience mckenzie um yeah actually when i

02:47:59 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 3:

um met my current husband he was still married they were separated they hadn't been um living together and stuff but he actually was still married up until like a month before we got married it took him off it took the divorce a while to go through um and it was like the last three weeks before we got married that it actually got filed so he was only single for like three

02:48:21 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 6:

week and you don't think though that that guy needs a little time to get over his situation

02:48:25 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 3:

i think it depends like if you were to say that he got married and then what if that night she made an awful mistake with a groomsman or something and he was the next day woke up and

02:48:38 - 02:49:04 | Speaker 6:

found out about it okay there's a story there you go i was waiting to see what your story was that's an interesting one so she banged the groomsman yeah i mean oh my god I would not allow that Natalie I'm still here you're there did I talk to you Natalie I haven't talked to you yet

02:49:04 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 5:

we talked for a brief minute

02:49:06 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 6:

you were on the air with us

02:49:07 - 02:49:18 | Speaker 5:

I was the one that said she needs to bring that photo when she's with him in person and say hey I know it seems awkward

02:49:18 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 6:

but you know i didn't take your call you talked to lydia or somebody nat natalie thinks that you

02:49:23 - 02:49:35 | Speaker 5:

should bring the photo i would do the same thing too what i would know why i would say to him i what i would do is doing all this behind the scenes exactly with that psychotic is is talking

02:49:35 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 6:

about it on the radio here and taking calls i'm not a cop i don't care what is this a vanity fair

02:49:40 - 02:49:47 | Speaker 2:

polygraph video like i do not know who that man is like that no what i would do is should i get

02:49:47 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 6:

I would go out on a date with him and then partially way through the date just get up and say hey I gotta go to the bathroom leave your phone there and have the picture of him.

02:50:00 - 02:50:06 | Speaker 4:

And say, have somebody calling, and it'll pop up as the contact picture.

02:50:06 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 5:

That would be amazing. Oh, come on, ye faithful. Well, there goes 85% of the population. Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning. Back to Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon says, this ain't Christmas. This ain't Christmas.

02:50:27 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 3:

It's not. Okay, so I feel like Wes and I are trying to figure out what in the heck we're doing for each other for Christmas. And this is a thing every year. And this year it started off with we're not going to get each other anything because we had an expensive year with the wedding and moving and all of those things. So we're like, we're not going to do gifts for each other. We decided we're going to both go in on like a fancy coffee machine to have at home. That's something we've both been wanting. We're like, that will be our gift to each other. Nice.

02:50:57 - 02:51:00 | Speaker 5:

That will be the gift that keeps on giving. No, seriously.

02:51:00 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 3:

I want a good coffee machine. We just have a curate right now. Well, then it turned into we'll do that and then we'll get each other stockings because that's what we've always done is just do stockings. Well, then yesterday I caught him taking notes on some stuff that I was talking about. And they were like bigger things like clothes, like gift items, not stocking items. and so i'm like i do not trust him whatsoever to just do a stocking and then us go in on this coffee maker and so then we're talking about that and i i had a bunch of his mail and like packages on the the kitchen counter and he's like please don't open anything from you know now on they might be for you and i said oh are these for my stocking right that we're supposed to just be doing and he goes no stockings are for stuff like socks and listarine strips what deodorant and tooth like the necessities no no it's not i said no no stockings are for the best gifts really no also disagree oh see we always got really good maybe not the best gifts but good

02:52:09 - 02:52:20 | Speaker 5:

gifts santa brought great gifts in our stockings stockings for me in our house were always like cool fun things but not like big big presents

02:52:20 - 02:52:22 | Speaker 3:

but not necessities not toothbrushes

02:52:22 - 02:52:31 | Speaker 5:

well by the way if you're giving toothbrushes and toothpaste to your kids you basically gave them Tuesday of last week that they should have had already

02:52:31 - 02:52:39 | Speaker 3:

you are not in charge of any of our children's stockings because they're not getting Listerine strips on Christmas morning

02:52:39 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 5:

Moja what were your stockings? Santa would come and he would leave under the tree for us a bunch of big presents yeah same and then we would have our stockings that were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that saint nicholas soon would be there okay and then no but they were inside of them would be we might get like some uh bombos socks or something like that you know like whatever the socks were or we might get we might get like a fun little like uh little toys like squirt guns or things like that i don't know but we wouldn't get like big things in the stockings

02:53:10 - 02:53:40 | Speaker 2:

This is so funny to me that these are all different. Candy. So we had traditional. Oh, and we did candy, too, yes. Traditional, but that's, like, all our stockings were, were, like, treats. And every year my dad would get us those. And I don't know if they're popular up in the Metro Detroit area, but those smashable chocolate oranges. Oh, yeah. You know, Shannon, how much I love those. I love those. And I, like, it's not Christmas if I don't get a smashable chocolate orange. See, my mom would, Santa and my mom, would always put makeup, like selfies.

02:53:41 - 02:54:06 | Speaker 4:

What would you guys do with your stockings? I mean, when I was growing up, we never got gifts in our stockings. Like, stockings is decoration for real. Really? I thought this was going to be a sad moment. You want me to make you a stocking? No, I'm straight. I mean, I thought stockings were, like, stupid, to be honest with you. Because, like, you can't fit anything in a stocking that I would actually want, as long as the bottom of the tree is bangled all the way. Let me tell you something.

02:54:06 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 3:

The past couple of years that Wes and I have just done stockings, I have gotten so creative. I've put amazing things, concert tickets, in those stockings. Like, I really try to be creative with getting good gifts in the stocking because that was the rule. But, like, when he's saying for, you know, it's for necessity, isn't it?

02:54:26 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 2:

I know that I've said this before, but it is really unfortunate you're not my wife because you are a great gift giver. So, Wes should be grateful. Concert tickets in your stocking? Are you kidding me?

02:54:36 - 02:54:38 | Speaker 5:

Concert tickets would be awesome. That would be amazing.

02:54:38 - 02:54:39 | Speaker 2:

I get Reese's, peanut butter cups, and chocolate oranges.

02:54:40 - 02:54:43 | Speaker 5:

Sam, what are your thoughts on this one? What are stockings meant for?

02:54:44 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 1:

Well, good morning, everyone. Good morning. So stockings in my family were like Mojo said. It's for, like, essentials for the year. My mom would put nail polishes I like or, like, pack of deodorant and, like, you know. You're Wes. No, that's what Wes. Wes is, like, deodorant. Oh.

02:55:00 - 02:55:02 | Speaker 4:

He kept some Listerine strips. Yeah.

02:55:03 - 02:55:04 | Speaker 6:

No.

02:55:04 - 02:55:13 | Speaker 1:

No, boo. But all that stuff you should already have. Stocking should be something like, oh, my God, this is what I wanted. Like an iTunes gift card. Right. Yes.

02:55:13 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 5:

It's nice.

02:55:15 - 02:55:16 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's. Remember the McDonald's book?

02:55:16 - 02:55:18 | Speaker 5:

You get it. Yeah. Lottery tickets.

02:55:19 - 02:55:27 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's had a book that you could actually pull out. You know, I get French fries today. I get a Big Mac tomorrow. You know, something like that. Damn. Like an entertainment book.

02:55:27 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 4:

Well, have a Merry Christmas, everyone. You too.

02:55:29 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 1:

Everybody but Shannon when she gets her deodorant. What's up, Ashley? How you doing? Good morning. By the way, he should get you, I got a tampon story to tell later, but he should get you some tampons.

02:55:39 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't have a period anymore, but sure, sure.

02:55:42 - 02:55:54 | Speaker 1:

They have candy cane tampons, by the way. They do not. They do not. Are they just white? And do you bring a ring? What's up? That's a real question. Move on. Move on. Please move on. Ashley, what's going on?

02:55:55 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, Ashley. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas. We, growing up, my mom and Santa Claus would put both, like, fun things and, like, the necessities. So, like, I have two kids now. We do the exact same thing. Like, my son, since he was a little kid and could talk, would always say, I need a road for deodorant, like his dad. So he always gets a new deodorant every Christmas. But it's, like, a fancier one, not just his regular one that he uses. And then my daughter will always want, you know, like Shannon was saying, like, makeup and nail polishes and stuff like that. But we also still give them, like, socks or things that, like, they're boring to open Christmas presents. So we put them, we put the smaller necessities in the stockings because they still have a little bit of fun, plus snacks and, you know, those kind of things. Like Megan was saying, your favorite candy that you don't get to buy at the store all the time.

02:56:47 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 1:

Right, yeah.

02:56:48 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 6:

So, kids, if you're listening, make sure you ask for socks today and say, oh, I have no socks so that you don't get them on Christmas.

02:56:55 - 02:57:07 | Speaker 2:

No, see, it's too late. My mom would always be like, nope, it's after Thanksgiving. Put it on your Christmas list. Everything. There was the cutoff. Everything. If I needed shampoo, she'd be like, put it on your Christmas list.

02:57:08 - 02:57:09 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Tina? How you doing?

02:57:11 - 02:57:13 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, guys. How's everybody doing? Good morning.

02:57:13 - 02:57:14 | Speaker 1:

We're doing great.

02:57:16 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 4:

Good. So when I was growing up, our stockings were always full of, like, super fun, like, little trinkets, toys, whatever. But for an entire year, you know how cereal boxes used to come with toys in them? For an entire year, we all wondered, where are these toys? Why are we getting all these cereal boxes with no toys? Christmas morning comes, our stockings were stuffed with all the cereal box toys. That is so funny.

02:57:43 - 02:57:46 | Speaker 2:

That was the best part of cereals, by the way. Wasn't it? The toy in the bottom.

02:57:46 - 02:57:56 | Speaker 1:

Did they stop because some kid sued because he choked on something? I don't know, but they don't do it anymore. They don't even do the Cracker Jacks stuff anymore. They don't? No, there's no good thing in a Cracker Jack box.

02:57:56 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 6:

The Wonder Balls. I wonder, wonder what's in a Wonder Ball. You remember that?

02:58:00 - 02:58:01 | Speaker 1:

No. It was at the bottom of what cereal?

02:58:01 - 02:58:16 | Speaker 6:

No, not a cereal. You would buy them and they would come in a box or buy the checkout areas or whatever. And it was chocolate wrapped around a plastic egg and inside the egg was either more candy or toys. Oh, that's like Kinder Eggs. Yes, it was the American Kinder Egg. Okay.

02:58:17 - 02:58:41 | Speaker 1:

Here's a story that just popped in my head out of the blue. I remember I got punished when I was a kid because we used to hang real candy canes up on our Christmas tree. And the Christmas tree would turn out uneven. And my dad, because we never got candy in our house. Believe it or not, look at me. Do you think I got candy when I was a kid? Stop. You would think I got a lot. No, I got mashed potatoes and gravy. That's what I got. Well, when we were kids, we would take the candy canes off of the tree and eat the candy canes because we were so excited that there was candy hanging on the tree.

02:58:41 - 02:58:44 | Speaker 3:

And my dad would go, who took the goddamn candy canes off the tree?

02:58:46 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 1:

And there'd be like half a tree with no candy canes on it. And all I remember is my dad, we would go, Tommy! And we're like, up in my room, I know. Real quick, on candy canes. Yeah. Don't like a party you die when they break. Oh, yeah, when you don't get ready.

02:59:00 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 6:

Those wrappers are bitch. You and a sibling that you would, like, suck on the one end and make it sharp and then, like, poke them again?

02:59:07 - 02:59:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:59:08 - 02:59:10 | Speaker 1:

That's not like prison. Hold on.

02:59:10 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 2:

You have to get it as plenty as possible without breaking it.

02:59:13 - 02:59:18 | Speaker 1:

This is the best thing you could ever put in a stocking. Callie, are you there? Callie.

02:59:18 - 02:59:19 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning.

02:59:19 - 02:59:21 | Speaker 1:

Callie, what would you get in your stocking?

02:59:22 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 5:

So, since I got older, my mom assigned my dad our stockings, and now every year we all get a fifth.

02:59:30 - 02:59:37 | Speaker 1:

Is that the greatest? Booze. I love that. What did you, why is your fifth? What is your favorite?

02:59:38 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 5:

Typically, he gets us all what we like, so I usually just get a bottle of Tito's, but sometimes he'll change it up for us.

02:59:45 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 1:

That's the greatest, man. That is a Tito's Christmas right there. Awesome. Merry Christmas.

02:59:51 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 3:

You too. Thanks. Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning.

02:59:56 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning show. I want Kevin to do this next one.

03:00:00 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 3:

Kevin might have the strangest thing ever. You might have heard this. Kevin has mentioned that he and Sherelle are going their separate ways, which breaks my heart because I love both of you guys. I can hear it in your voice. But also makes me realize I got a ton of friends I want to set Sherelle up with, but we'll talk a little bit. Don't get your ass beat. Relax. By Sherelle or? By me. Squabble up. Squabble up. Tell me if you guys have a weirder breakup relationship than these two guys. So you guys have been going through a struggle for a period of time, right? Right. It's been like June. Tell everybody your sleeping arrangements. We sleep in the same bed still.

03:00:51 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 5:

What do you say? Back to back? Because nothing's happening, right? Yeah, no, nothing's happening. Okay, okay. Open book. So, like, back-to-back, butt-to-butt, but that's it? Or, like, totally separate sides of the bed?

03:01:03 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 4:

Journey's still in the bed. Journey has always been, like, in the middle. So, the sleeping arrangements haven't changed since we were good, I guess, so to speak. Like, nothing's changed. There was a period where I wasn't sleeping in the bed, and then I got back in the bed because the bed is more comfortable than the other bed in the house and then on the couch. But I don't think that's weird. Like, is it weird that exes still share certain things?

03:01:26 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 3:

All right, I want to know. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I want to know who's still in the same bed, and yet you guys are broken up, divorced, whatever it might be in your case.

03:01:39 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 5:

We were in the same house for a long time, but not the same.

03:01:43 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 3:

How quick did you jump out of the bed?

03:01:47 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 5:

Way before anybody even knew that there was an issue.

03:01:51 - 03:02:02 | Speaker 4:

That's honestly how Josiah knew it was an issue. it was like before we started telling josiah what was going on he was like i knew something was going on like you're not sleeping in the bed like that was a dead giveaway yeah yeah yeah my

03:02:02 - 03:02:17 | Speaker 3:

my kids were always smart whenever chelsea and i were going through a struggle because she would be in the basement so she'd be fully in the you know downstairs yeah but um okay so is it weird though like when you go when you like because you guys still are good with each other

03:02:17 - 03:02:22 | Speaker 4:

talking and all that stuff right yeah a lot better now than what it has been in the past for sure

03:02:22 - 03:02:35 | Speaker 5:

okay so when you go to bed at night are you like good night yeah like well i have two questions what's the conversation like but also like do you get to control do you have tv in your room

03:02:35 - 03:03:11 | Speaker 4:

bruh she she controlled the tv she used to care when i wanted to go to sleep she had to be mindful because i like putting on rain sounds she don't give a damn no more she watch whatever she want the volume is like it don't go below 17 like she don't care are you doing the same when you wake up in the morning then no i'm very i'm very cautious i still well i went through a period where it was like lights on in this bitch i don't care what's going on but i realized i was being petty so i i'll go back to my my chivalrous ways and try to crack the door or use my phone light because i don't want to be that guy that's not who i am but like don't you want to move on at

03:03:11 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 6:

a certain point like for me it's not super weird if it's relatively new but this isn't super new

03:03:18 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 4:

i would have want to have moved on by now well i mean i don't i like to do things in the right time and in the right spirit and in the right way i think when you rush certain things you run from one problem to the next just because you're running running away doesn't always mean like you're running towards something you're running away from something and in this situation i knew our lease was up in january so eventually we were gonna move anyway so i was like let me just i can thug it out we both can thug it out and just wait until what i didn't say the f word

03:03:47 - 03:03:57 | Speaker 5:

that says a lot about you guys by the way you know like at least it's this end of the spectrum versus the other one I don't know I'd sleep on the couch

03:03:57 - 03:04:04 | Speaker 7:

for six months before I slept with my ex the bag don't work Jay what do you think of this

03:04:04 - 03:04:33 | Speaker 2:

it's not weird because alright I'm in the same position me and my ex are still talking yes we do sleep together but it's cause the relationship was toxic but at the same time we still love each other I know that she could change for me so for that I know aside from the sexual illness but she could actually like she's actually

03:04:33 - 03:04:41 | Speaker 3:

a wonderful person I still love her so you're actually you guys are not only sleeping in the same bed you guys are sleeping in the same bed if you're saying that yeah wow Leo what's up it's Mojo in the morning hi

03:04:41 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 1:

yeah no I just wanted to say that Me and my ex did, like, the same thing that Kevin and Cheryl are doing, where we lived together for, like, a year after we had our son. And we were just like, you know, when you're with someone for that long, we were together for a few years. We were very codependent.

03:05:00 - 03:05:04 | Speaker 5:

dependent and so we just kind of gradually started living separately and tried to like figure out how

03:05:04 - 03:05:11 | Speaker 3:

to co-parent and be less dependent but yeah it was like it wasn't as silly as i like the bed

03:05:11 - 03:05:18 | Speaker 5:

like kevin is saying sometimes no no it was like the same like we had before but we just did it as

03:05:18 - 03:05:28 | Speaker 1:

friends like photonically you know i mean i totally get that especially with the kids and i think that makes a lot of sense for you too but like if i am angry at somebody or they've hurt me i don't

03:05:28 - 03:05:41 | Speaker 4:

want to sleep next to you yeah like i said that's how it started right like i wasn't in the bed and then you get to a certain point where i don't want to be ruled by pain and that's what was happening

03:05:41 - 03:06:01 | Speaker 8:

hey bella what's up hello hi hi good morning what's going on so my parents divorced when i was two. My dad did not leave the home until I was 16. And that's how I got a little sister. Oh, wow.

03:06:03 - 03:06:07 | Speaker 1:

So, how far apart are you and your sister?

03:06:10 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 8:

Well, my older sister and I are two years apart, but my younger sister, she was seven and a half, almost eight years different. So, they tried to make it work so many times.

03:06:20 - 03:06:27 | Speaker 3:

Bella, quick question. Was it a holiday or something? Like, did Christmas bring them together for a night of passion or whatever?

03:06:29 - 03:06:32 | Speaker 8:

I think just showers brought them together. Oh, showers?

03:06:32 - 03:06:34 | Speaker 3:

And they even do showers.

03:06:34 - 03:06:35 | Speaker 8:

I can't see. Yeah.

03:06:35 - 03:06:41 | Speaker 3:

That's in the window. That's amazing. What color were the showers? Laura, what's up? Hi.

03:06:41 - 03:06:42 | Speaker 7:

I can't see that. They say it.

03:06:42 - 03:06:43 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Laura?

03:06:44 - 03:07:07 | Speaker 7:

So, in Missouri, I had to wait 90 days. So I had filed for my divorce, and I told my ex he could stay there. Well, he started being a jerk. And come March, three months later, my divorce got finalized, and he was still in the house. Well, since he became such an a-hole, I was like, yeah, you can leave. Bye.

03:07:08 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 3:

Wow. So in Missouri, they make you wait how many days? 90 days. But that's 90 days until they can officially make a divorce. It doesn't mean you have to stay in the same bedroom, though. i think they have that everywhere i think that's kind of a deal most places but um wait so i mean

03:07:25 - 03:07:37 | Speaker 2:

speaking of showers and stuff like are you are you like careful and covered up when you're changing or what's that situation nothing has changed on both of our hands like that so you

03:07:37 - 03:07:51 | Speaker 4:

guys walk around naked in front of each other and stuff i mean we didn't really walk around naked like that in the first place but yeah a little bit of that going on in the bathroom with the door open yeah oh yeah things are the same but you know things are different right you know

03:07:51 - 03:08:18 | Speaker 3:

what i mean like that yeah um all right well okay squabble up okay when he doesn't know what to say from now on that's what he's gonna say what does squabble up mean it means fight is that what it is all right that's what you call a squabble oh i want i kind of figured it was that but i thought with something cooler than that. Well, you guys, you and Shirelle are both great people. That's my daughter. Alright.

03:08:18 - 03:08:21 | Speaker 1:

The best dressed male voice on Mojo in the Morning.

03:08:21 - 03:08:23 | Speaker 7:

And honestly, that's not saying much.

03:08:23 - 03:08:25 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:08:27 - 03:08:29 | Speaker 7:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:08:29 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Alright, second date update right now. Larissa is getting ghosted. Larissa, what's up?

03:08:37 - 03:09:02 | Speaker 6:

Hey. I wish I had something more exciting to tell you But basically, I went out with this guy, Miguel We had a great time The vibe was perfect We went out, we got food We walked around downtown We met up with his friends Like, this is all in one night And then afterwards, he came back to my place Spent the night And ever since then, I haven't heard from him

03:09:02 - 03:09:07 | Speaker 3:

So did you guys spend the night sleeping Or spend the night doing other things?

03:09:08 - 03:09:10 | Speaker 6:

A little bit of everything. Really? Okay.

03:09:10 - 03:09:18 | Speaker 3:

So it was a good enough night to the point that he ended up staying the night. And then what did he do? Did he leave the next morning or afternoon?

03:09:19 - 03:09:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he left the next morning. Everything was fine. What did he say to you?

03:09:24 - 03:09:26 | Speaker 3:

What did he say when he left?

03:09:27 - 03:09:37 | Speaker 6:

He said, well, you know, thank you for such a lovely night. I'll text you later. And I was like, perfect, you know. And later never came.

03:09:37 - 03:09:40 | Speaker 3:

So he's never text you back even just to check in and say, hey, what's up?

03:09:41 - 03:09:45 | Speaker 6:

Right. And I've texted him a couple times, and I haven't heard back.

03:09:46 - 03:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

03:09:47 - 03:09:47 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

03:09:48 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 3:

And this was somebody that you say that you really liked. I mean, obviously you liked. Do you date a lot? I know you guys met on an app, but you guys?

03:09:57 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Well, we met on an app, too.

03:10:00 - 03:10:02 | Speaker 1:

I've dated a few people from the app.

03:10:03 - 03:10:06 | Speaker 3:

Which app are you using? What are you using? Tinder.

03:10:07 - 03:10:07 | Unknown:

Dang.

03:10:07 - 03:10:28 | Speaker 3:

Okay, Tinder, Tinder. I was hoping it wasn't Tinder. Give me Tinder for a win here, guys. All right, here's the deal. We're going to find out what's going on. Second date update here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Miguel is on the phone with us. Miguel, are you okay with your voice on the radio? Sure, yeah. Hey, Miguel, say hello to Larissa.

03:10:30 - 03:10:30 | Speaker 2:

Hello, Larissa.

03:10:32 - 03:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Miguel.

03:10:34 - 03:10:40 | Speaker 3:

Miguel, you heard Larissa tell us about your date. What's going on? Why have you not texted her back?

03:10:43 - 03:11:43 | Speaker 2:

I mean, look, it sounds all great, and it was. We bought, but she had some serious anger issues in my book, so I'll just light the red flag to me. How did that come on? um well when we were driving uh to the bar first of all she's a little hectic like not she can't really drive very well in my opinion because like she cut off a few people but there was one like she cut them off i don't i mean i don't know i don't know it could have been him or her i don't know but she cut this car off and then she made like a real concerted effort to like drive, get close, make sure she sped up and got, you know, like, and just make sure that she flipped the guy off. And I'm sitting here like, what? And she, like, made this whole scene. And I'm just going, like, what the heck? What is this? So, and look, we did have a great night, all that stuff. You know, probably could have been better not followed through with all that stuff, but anyway.

03:11:44 - 03:11:52 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so she was driving, and while she was driving, somebody cut her off, and she road raged right there in front of you.

03:11:56 - 03:12:04 | Speaker 2:

Was super loud, angry, was like, get you, bro, and then like put them off and made sure that he saw. Go f*** yourself.

03:12:04 - 03:12:18 | Speaker 3:

So, quick, I got two questions for this one. Number one question is, was the person that cut her off in the wrong? Number two question of this one, why is she driving and why did you not drive?

03:12:19 - 03:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. this is what we agreed to but i mean she was like you know let's go i you know i was at work at the time you yeah that's my message so you and kiss my so did did the person that cut her off were they in the wrong um she was really close to the guy and he he kind of was coming into the lane she didn't put her blinker on okay the answer is not a drive she wasn't like what's that larissa

03:12:47 - 03:13:10 | Speaker 1:

The answer is yes, he did deserve it. And yes, I did drive like that, but I don't think it's aggressive. I think it's just, you know, like these people don't know how to drive around us. And the guy cut me off. And so I think he needed to know that I didn't appreciate it. So I flashed my lights at him. I sped up close enough for him to see my finger and I gave it to him. Who the f*** was that? I mean, probably not the best first date.

03:13:10 - 03:13:30 | Speaker 3:

I'm with Miguel, man. If she turned up like that, she cussing at the man, flipping him off. That's eternal. I get it, but I also say sometimes, listen, you flipped off a little kid in a grocery store, for God's sake. He liked it. Yeah, he liked it. But you're also talking, I don't understand why the hell she's driving, though. Like, I don't care. It could be a safety thing.

03:13:30 - 03:13:32 | Speaker 1:

No, it's not even that. That doesn't matter?

03:13:33 - 03:13:40 | Speaker 3:

It could be a safety thing, though. Maybe this first date, maybe she doesn't want him in, you know what I mean? Who made the decision of who was going to drive, Larissa?

03:13:40 - 03:13:42 | Speaker 2:

Look, I get it. I think that's irrelevant, though.

03:13:43 - 03:13:48 | Speaker 3:

Okay, you do because you could be in the wrong. Larissa, who made the decision of who was driving?

03:13:49 - 03:13:54 | Speaker 1:

I mean, I offered and he accepted. I'm not really sure why. Yeah, it's not a big deal. I don't know if he has a car or not.

03:13:55 - 03:13:56 | Speaker 3:

Drive your own car.

03:13:56 - 03:14:08 | Speaker 1:

I offered. Damn car. And at the same time, I just want it to be noted that, like, you know, he's in my car. I'm responsible for his safety. This person cuts me off. I think it's a rightful duty.

03:14:08 - 03:14:09 | Speaker 3:

She was thinking of his safety. Yeah.

03:14:10 - 03:14:18 | Speaker 2:

Guys, this is crazy. I don't know what you're talking about. She flipped the guy off. I get it. I hid my crazy for a couple of months when I started dating Wes.

03:14:18 - 03:14:33 | Speaker 3:

Wait, wait, wait, wait. This guy also went back to her house and had sex with her. He was so freaked out over this whole thing that he took her back to her house because guess what? Crazy girls make better love than non-crazy girls, right?

03:14:34 - 03:14:35 | Speaker 1:

I'm not going to disagree with that.

03:14:37 - 03:14:41 | Speaker 3:

He was so appalled by this whole thing that he had sex with her. Go ahead, Megan.

03:14:41 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 1:

Road rage is super normal. I feel like that's the most normal of all the rages. Like you can have lots of road rage, but not have rage in your real life. I don't think that you let somebody see that glimpse the first time they're meeting you.

03:14:54 - 03:14:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you wait till you're engaged.

03:14:56 - 03:14:58 | Speaker 2:

You sweep that under the rug.

03:15:00 - 03:15:04 | Speaker 4:

I will F you up, bitch! Poor Wasp wants to run. Jordan, what's going on?

03:15:05 - 03:15:17 | Speaker 3:

So, you actually said exactly what I was going to say when I called him, so you beat me to it. What was that? He seemed to go home with her. He wasn't bothered by that.

03:15:17 - 03:15:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, this happened when they were on their way to the bar. That means that they spent the time at the bar, they hung out downtown, and then got back in the car with her to go back to her house. I don't see anything wrong with that.

03:15:27 - 03:15:38 | Speaker 3:

I mean, my wife wrote her ages all the time. Sometimes it scares me a little bit. You sound scared talking to us right now. And you went home with her too.

03:15:39 - 03:16:02 | Speaker 4:

Married her. Listen, I'm going to tell you, Miguel, I just think that you're a hypocrite. And cheap for not driving. Because he slept with her? He's a hypocrite? No, he's a hypocrite for the fact that he was so... I cannot be around her. She's screaming and swearing and, you know, road raging. Let's go back to your house so I can see what your vagina looks like. You know what I mean?

03:16:02 - 03:16:04 | Speaker 6:

Crazy in the head, crazy in bed.

03:16:05 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 4:

That's what it is. Tamara, what's going on?

03:16:08 - 03:16:26 | Speaker 6:

Hey, I think he was right not to call her back. Because she just said he's in her car. She's responsible for his safety. But road rage is super dangerous. Did she think about that? Like, I would never get back in the car with her again. There are two kinds of road ranges.

03:16:26 - 03:16:39 | Speaker 5:

That's not fair. There's the one that you pretend to have a verbal altercation with the person driving the other vehicle because they are clearly in the wrong. And then there are the swerving in and out of traffic and brake tracking. So if it's just verbal, that's not unsafe.

03:16:39 - 03:16:47 | Speaker 6:

No, once you extend a finger to another driver, you are going in dangerous territory. That is not cool, especially with someone else in the car.

03:16:48 - 03:16:52 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Bruno? Hi, Bruno. Hi, what's going on?

03:16:54 - 03:17:16 | Speaker 2:

Morning. It just sounds to me like the dude was never in it for a relationship. I mean, if he found a red flag by getting in the car, he should have stuck to that and not get back in that car again. Exactly. He ended up having sex with her. And now all of a sudden, there's all kinds of red flags and she's got anger issues. I mean, dude, if she has anger issues, you should never have come back home with her.

03:17:16 - 03:17:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Wouldn't you be scared to be at her house with her? Maybe she was only angry during the road rage. Well, how about this? Date her and don't let her drive. Be the guy driving.

03:17:27 - 03:17:28 | Speaker 7:

You are so stuck on that.

03:17:29 - 03:17:37 | Speaker 4:

I am because, Shannon, if a guy were to make you scared road raging somebody, you would get back in the car with that guy again and drive with him?

03:17:37 - 03:17:41 | Speaker 5:

No, I wouldn't. I'm saying you're stuck on the fact that she drove and he didn't.

03:17:41 - 03:17:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that bothers me. Listen, that's like a guy not paying for a meal, too. What's going on, Misfit Ron?

03:17:47 - 03:18:46 | Speaker 1:

yes i wanted to comment first mojo listen i know we're tight you you can't get on that guy because he let her drive i feel like in the world just aside i feel like because that girl was acting crazy and driving that you're trying to dismiss his claim that she's crazy because she let him drive like like he like he can't be valid in his reason for being crazy on a technical because he let her drive listen and i and i know people that get irritated when they drive like this yeah this is not just uh get irritated when you drive the car thing yeah this girl we get pissed this is not just this is a little glimpse into the whole picture if she gets irritated over a car something that's not that drastic i know she's gonna get pissed and angry over other things This is just a small piece of the pie for sure.

03:18:47 - 03:18:49 | Speaker 4:

We are tight, Ron. You are absolutely right.

03:18:50 - 03:18:54 | Speaker 1:

Why are you getting on that guy? Because you let her drive. Turn on Ron! Come on, Ron!

03:18:54 - 03:18:58 | Speaker 4:

Because it appalls me that there are guys that are not gentlemen these days.

03:18:59 - 03:19:04 | Speaker 1:

But listen, I understand that. And another thing is why did the guy go back to the apartment?

03:19:04 - 03:19:05 | Speaker 7:

Right, yeah.

03:19:05 - 03:19:19 | Speaker 1:

Just like a lot of the comments of, like, you guys say and the guests on the show say, They're just on a dating site for Tinder. It's not like they're going to be in love, and they don't know. That girl went along with it, too.

03:19:20 - 03:19:20 | Speaker 7:

Okay, Ron.

03:19:21 - 03:19:32 | Speaker 1:

You guys always fault people for wanting to go back to the house and do things, but, like, you're owed nothing when you're on a dating site. Like, that's when people are there doing whatever.

03:19:32 - 03:19:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, this is so great.

03:19:34 - 03:19:47 | Speaker 4:

Hold on, Ron. Hold on, Ron. Watch out. Here comes the crazy out of these girls. I thought you were going after Mojo. No, no, no. We're tight. We're tight. We're tight. You say something wild. All right, Ron. Thank you, Ron. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

03:19:48 - 03:19:49 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry.

03:19:50 - 03:19:51 | Speaker 4:

No, no, Ron. Don't apologize.

03:19:52 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 3:
