This is it.

00:02:17 - 00:02:18 | Speaker 5:

00:02:21 - 00:02:22 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hat.

00:02:23 - 00:02:54 | Unknown:

Here we go. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go,

00:02:54 - 00:03:21 | Speaker 5:

good morning uh shannon's a little cranky because she was trying to take a nap yesterday and your

00:03:21 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 2:

nap completely got ruined you guys first of all i feel like we were all super tired during the show yesterday like there was something about yesterday i was barely getting through the show i feel like my energy was so low so my apologies but all i could think about all morning was when i get home after all of the meetings that we have i am just gonna get the dogs and i'm gonna crawl into my bed and i am gonna sleep for the afternoon which is something that i don't normally get to do because i usually have kids running around or wes is there and he always wants to like talk or do something or whatever but i had nobody in my house so i thought i pull up in my driveway and i see there's a truck in my driveway super nice guy i walk in and i was like hi how are you doing um he knows that i wake up in the middle of the night to go to work so i even said to him i'm just gonna be in my room i'm gonna take a nap so you do your thing he knows he you know cleans up, leaves, whatever. I go in my room. I change into my sweatpants. I get all cozy in my bed. I am exhausted. And then what do I hear? A whistle. The loudest whistling, honest to God, I've ever heard. This man whistled for 10 minutes, 20 minutes. I thought surely his cheeks are going to be tired after whistling this much 40 minutes in I'm like well my nap is that this is not happening today all because the painter would not stop whistling really I was so annoyed and you know when you're already cranky because you're looking forward to sleeping and then you can't sleep. So then my cranky level, like, shot through the roof. But, yep.

00:05:04 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 5:

Like an old coal miner.

00:05:08 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 2:

Does everybody else need a nap today? Are you guys awake, or what's happening?

00:05:11 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 4:

I'm listening, but I'm trying to find my, oh, here, I was trying to find my song here. My whistle song. But less, as Kevin said, like an old coal miner.

00:05:22 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 1:

I don't know what that was.

00:05:22 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 4:

Coal miners whistle?

00:05:23 - 00:05:24 | Speaker 5:

I didn't even know what they whistled.

00:05:24 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

Coal miners.

00:05:25 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I'm just thinking, ah, I'm working on a rail. I was thinking more like the Seven Dwarfs.

00:05:29 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:05:30 - 00:05:30 | Unknown:

There you go.

00:05:30 - 00:05:31 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:05:31 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm more impressed that you saw it.

00:05:32 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 5:

I wanted to say something, Shannon. I'm sorry.

00:05:34 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 2:

It was just silence. I'm like, all right, I'm going to go home and take a nap, actually, right now.

00:05:40 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 4:

It's funny. I go look for whistle while you work and whistle while you twerk came up more so than whistle while you work. Oh, my God. That's the real version. That is, by the way. Oh, this might be the dirt. Yeah, there you go.

00:05:54 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 1:

But what was that thing that just disrupted your sleep when all you wanted to do was sleep and you couldn't?

00:06:00 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 4:

Can I, you can call up for that. Can I also ask this question too?

00:06:04 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:06:05 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 4:

You have a strange man in your house and you will fall asleep with a strange man in your house?

00:06:09 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's been my life for like the past year. Really? Getting, you know.

00:06:13 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 4:

You must really, this must be like a trustworthy man that you would actually say.

00:06:17 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 2:

Never met him before in my life before he started painting. Come on.

00:06:20 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 4:

No. And you said to him, I'm going to go to my bedroom and go lay down. Yep.

00:06:26 - 00:06:30 | Speaker 2:

I have to. What else? And take a nap. I have to continue with my normal life.

00:06:30 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 4:

But that would have, interestingly enough, as a guy who's watched much porn in my life, I would have thought that was my invitation, for God's sake.

00:06:39 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 2:

He's about 75 years old.

00:06:41 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 4:

Excuse me, sir. I'm about to go lay down for a moment.

00:06:45 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 2:

He could be my grandfather.

00:06:48 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 4:

I mean, Mike, am I wrong? I mean, you saw that porn, haven't you? Right, 75-year-old men sniff panties, too. I mean, it's not just young guys.

00:06:54 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they get their own category.

00:06:56 - 00:07:04 | Speaker 4:

When I'm 75 years old, I'm definitely going to be watching more porn than I've ever watched even right now. Man. Yeah.

00:07:05 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 5:

Especially with that Apple Vision Pro. Yeah.

00:07:09 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine, by the way, if the man actually does have one of those things and he's just sitting there, you know?

00:07:16 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 5:

Whistling while he works. Yeah, exactly. This is what it sounded like. You didn't kiss with him

00:07:23 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

You didn't give him a cough No

00:07:27 - 00:07:32 | Speaker 2:

He wouldn't have been able to hear me Over the whistling mic

00:07:32 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

It's probably part of the job Did you know what song He was whistling

00:07:41 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

It had to have been 10 different songs

00:07:44 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 4:

With as long as he was whistling are you sure he was whistling he's 70 something years old it might have been his dentures

00:07:52 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:

don't the kids normally keep you up when you're trying to take naps you haven't

00:08:02 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 4:

got that mom those mom ears where you can't hear anything so normally i nap it when the kids are

00:08:07 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

at school the kids don't get off the bus until about 4 15 so unless there's like a half day or something i i don't normally have kids if i'm not okay to be honest because i was gonna say because

00:08:17 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 4:

usually you know i'm at a point i can sleep through anything but i will say my kids sometimes

00:08:22 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 2:

if they are home and i need to sleep yeah i if they're watching tv and they like to cuddle with me like having the tv on and they're silent when they're watching tv i'm i'm out with that but this was just like that one thing that i couldn't i couldn't do it chelsea's had people come and do

00:08:39 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 4:

stuff at our house and i'll be on the couch sleeping and like people will come in and go oh i feel horrible it was okay she's like you could be literally jackhammering in here and he will sleep through absolutely everything yeah but to that you ever have somebody mow their lawn like

00:08:53 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 3:

super early in the morning oh right outside your window and saturday saturday mornings mike the

00:08:59 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 4:

neighbors who mow their lawn before nine o'clock in the morning i know there's some that do like they'll wait till like eight o'clock but even eight o'clock is too early right yeah i think so

00:09:09 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 3:

I think any time, because it's always right by your window. For some reason, it's always right by the window in your bedroom.

00:09:14 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 2:

See, that lulls me to sleep. The sound of the lawnmowers. Yeah, I'm good. That's like a noise. That's the sound my noisemaker makes, like that white noise kind of sound.

00:09:23 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 5:

Well, look, try living in an apartment complex where they don't just do one lawn. They do all the lawns. The loudest, oldest machine in the world. You got the guy next door. I got the whole cul-de-sac.

00:09:37 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 4:

A couple of textures here. Kenyatta, one of our favorites. We love you, Kenyatta. She says, you should have used some of Smith's earplugs that he sells at school. 586 says, I, in capital letters, knew Mojo was going to go there. A laughing emoji on it. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-666

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:

6-5-6-5-4-8. A couple questions to this one here. What woke you up? You'll have to call us up and tell us. And then the second one is, do you think Shannon's as crazy as we think she's crazy for letting some painter guy come and... Girl, you're crazy.

00:10:16 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 5:

I don't have a choice, though. I live by myself, so what else am I going to do? I know.

00:10:20 - 00:10:21 | Unknown:

Not nap.

00:10:21 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, not nap. I know.

00:10:23 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 5:

I mean, what are you going to take? Please, take whatever you want and help me clean out my house.

00:10:28 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Hampton? How you doing? Good. How are you guys? Fantastic, buddy. What's up?

00:10:35 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 4:

So I was going to say, I lived in Germany the past three years, and in Germany, they have quiet hours. So you cannot cut or wash your car or anything before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. Oh, wow. On Sundays, you cannot do anything.

00:10:48 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 1:

5 p.m. is very early. That is early. Yeah. Quiet.

00:10:52 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 6:

It's at 5.30.

00:10:53 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 1:

What did you say, Megan?

00:10:55 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 6:

Do you not have that in Michigan? No. Not that early.

00:10:57 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 1:

Why? In Ohio they have that? I always like when you say, you not have that in Michigan, you always sound like we're calling from Germany.

00:11:03 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 6:

Sometimes it feels like I'm in Germany when I'm here. I'm not going to lie. Your rules are weird sometimes.

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

Is that an Ohio thing that they actually do the same thing?

00:11:10 - 00:11:17 | Speaker 6:

Now I don't know if it's an Ohio thing or just a Sylvania thing. That seems like it would be a Sylvania thing. But yeah, there are quiet hours. How do I know?

00:11:18 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 1:

We have quiet hours, but nobody pays attention to them. Not even the neighbors don't pay attention to them. The law doesn't pay attention to them.

00:11:25 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 6:

Our cops have been called on us a lot. but that's...

00:11:28 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 1:

What do they call the police in Germany?

00:11:32 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 4:

It's a high five, the police ice.

00:11:34 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 1:

Yes. By the way, that's so cool that you're listening to us in Germany. What time is it in Germany?

00:11:40 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, I'm home now. I'm home now. I just got home.

00:11:43 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 6:

Is this the Hampton that did five lies to tell your mom last week? Yes, it is. Oh, Hampton.

00:11:49 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 1:

Hampton, we love you, buddy. Serving our country. We appreciate it.

00:11:52 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to forget your name.

00:11:53 - 00:11:54 | Speaker 1:

When do you go back, Hampton?

00:11:55 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 6:

I go back in March.

00:11:56 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 1:

Actually, we can't call you Hampton. We've got to go, Hampton! You're a little spit. I actually, the other day, met a woman who used to babysit you when you were a little child.

00:12:08 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:12:09 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she came up to me at a restaurant and said that, she said that she goes, I used to babysit Hampton from Five Lies, Tell Your Mom. And I said, you know, you should have spanked him. Katie, what's going on? How you doing?

00:12:24 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 5:

Okay, first time call I long time listening Hold on a second

00:12:30 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 1:

Shannon's taking a nap here I gotta do it quietly

00:12:32 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 5:

I wish

00:12:33 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

00:12:37 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 5:

So I live in an apartment Complexes Four little apartments The walls are really thin And I use a sleep app And it records me If I'm snoring And so when I woke up this morning I'm listening to The snores it was only a few but and then after the snore I would hear a knock on the wall so last night I was disrupting my neighbor's sleep with my snoring because then they were knocking on the wall

00:13:07 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 2:

that's kind of a

00:13:12 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 1:

proud moment though isn't it

00:13:14 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 7:

no

00:13:15 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

that's as ladylike as I like my ladies right there give me a good snore What's up, Sean? Hey, what's up, bro? Nothing much, buddy. What's going on?

00:13:28 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, Meg, and Kevin, what's good? Hey. Good morning.

00:13:31 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 1:

Don't forget Mike and KP, Lydia, and Zach.

00:13:35 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Lydia, Mike, KP, all y'all. What's good, man? I love y'all. So anyway, yeah, man. Well, I go to work. Like, I'm on my way to work right now. And my fiance, she's a night shift worker. And when she comes in at 12 midnight and 1 o'clock, she likes to wake me up and tell me about her day. Like, girl, I got to get up in the morning and go to sleep. I'm going to go to work. And she, you know what I'm saying? And she just gets up and wakes me up and tells me, well, you know what, such and such is. I don't care what such and such is.

00:14:12 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 1:

She's just trying to keep the relationship fresh, you know?

00:14:15 - 00:14:20 | Speaker 3:

She's excited to see you. man look if you keep doing this the relationship is gonna rock

00:14:20 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 1:

00:14:26 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 7:

00:14:46 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 1:

A cat vomit. KP.

00:14:48 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 7:

Yes, that will wake you up so fast. On the bed or just near you? Near you in the next room. I don't know what it is about that sound, but it wakes me up so quick.

00:14:58 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, jeez.

00:14:58 - 00:15:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Where did you move from?

00:15:05 - 00:15:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God, I had the craziest thing happen to me. So I had to go to a doctor's appointment. It's a doctor that I had not been to before. And I go to the doctor's office which is it it was in uh bloomfield hills and i walk into the office and uh there's like the lobby area that's there and i check in do all my stuff and kind of just kind of sit down and casually wait for my name to be called when all of a sudden the door opens up and the largest Man walks in Wearing His prison uniform Or jail Uniform from the Oakland County jail In shackles Okay Got shackles all on him And two armed Oakland County sheriff's Officers with guns Are standing there with the guy I'm literally Please tell me you got a picture I know You think that

00:18:02 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 2:

Should I have done that You can safely take a photo.

00:18:05 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 1:

Okay. You think that I could actually just sit there? First off, do you know, Shannon, I was keeping myself from trying to crap myself. Like, I was so scared at that particular moment. The last thing in the world I wanted to do was be a star in Con Air at that particular moment. You know what I mean?

00:18:21 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 2:

That prisoners could be taken out of prison to go to the doctor. I thought they had to go to, like, the infirmary.

00:18:26 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 1:

I would have thought the same thing, too. Listen, I'm not going to lie to you. I thought the same thing, too. So I'm sitting there, and looking over to my right is, like, this 80-year-old woman who I'm like, she's not going to protect me. And then I look over to the left, and I see kind of a huskier-looking lady, and I'm thinking, well, maybe she might try to protect me. And I'm going, holy crap. What in the world is going on here right now? Have you ever seen the movie Con Air before? I have not. It's a TNT classic. Yeah, exactly. Nicolas Cage. I hate Nicolas Cage, you guys. Anything that would be more exciting than that. I love Nicolas Cage. I can't stand Nicolas Cage. Oh, I love Nicolas Cage. So I will never watch that movie. Nicolas Cage is a great actor.

00:19:09 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 2:

I hate Nicolas Cage, too. And it's a great movie. Yeah.

00:19:13 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

So let me tell you what Con Air is about. Con Air is about the convicts on the plane. That's why they call it Con Air. Okay? Oh, my God. Thank you. And they take over the plane and land in the middle of nowhere, right? In Nevada or something, right? And they get out and go to some town running around, you know, without their shackles and stuff on. This guy was from Con Air. You know who he was in Con Air? He was the big scary dude from Con Air. He was the guy that you honestly wanted on your team in Con Air. And he comes walking in, and he's got his hands up front like this. Oh, my God. I was crapped to my pants. And he's got the shackles on his legs. You can hear them. And all I keep thinking to myself is, I'm going to get called to the back of this thing, which I did. I got called to the back of the office. and I'm going to get called to the back of the office and they have to take his check.

00:20:00 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 4:

off because they have to look at him and they can't have the shackles on while they're having him take off his clothes or whatever for this appointment and i'm and all i think to myself is when his shackles are off he's going to overtake the doctor i'd be terrified by taking the shackles putting it around his neck and going like this to him you are so right that's the scene in the

00:20:19 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 5:

movie where he takes over and runs off and then the two guys the two you know which by the way

00:20:24 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 4:

one of the the sheriff guys look like he might have been a little portly and i'm like oh this Son of a bitch ain't going to get him.

00:20:31 - 00:20:35 | Speaker 2:

Maybe the doctor was just going to do a little peek-a-rooney, a little peek-a-peek-y.

00:20:36 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I ain't peek-a-peek-y around him, but all I'm thinking to myself is, why did my doctor refer me to a doctor that does the prisoners? Listen, I have no problem with prisoners. No problem if you guys ever get out on the streets. I'm your guy, Jay Towers. but i but i do do want you to know that that just didn't make me feel good sitting in the

00:20:59 - 00:21:05 | Speaker 5:

doctor's office right because he's not in shackles for like a a theft crime right right right he did

00:21:05 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 4:

something real bad has anybody ever uh had this happen to them before have you ever heather this

00:21:10 - 00:21:40 | Speaker 1:

happened to you hi this happened this happened to me i was actually at the emergency room i was having a miscarriage and this was during covid and they weren't allowing anybody to come in with you so i was sitting there by myself and in walked an inmate and like they were pushing him in a wheelchair and two guards were pushing him in and standing with him so yeah and what a

00:21:40 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 4:

traumatic moment in itself for you and we're very sorry about that but to bring you to have to have That happened to you with, you know, what were the names of the guys in the Con Air? Do you remember? Look up the names. To the Googles. Yeah. What was Steve Buscemi's name? Oh, Steve Buscemi's name? Yes. And he's very scary. He's creepy. Yeah. He's very scary. Steve Buscemi's creepy in every role he plays. Cameron Poe. That's who it was, right? Cyrus the Virus. Cyrus the Virus. That is a great movie. Courtney, are you there? Swamp thing.

00:22:11 - 00:22:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Hi. Good morning.

00:22:12 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Courtney, you had your own Con Air.

00:22:14 - 00:22:56 | Speaker 3:

yes i did so my boyfriend's a pilot so i fly all the time just hop on a plane with him and apparently i've flown several times with prisoners um normally they fly with obviously a police officer they both are dressed in like regular clothes normal clothes um but they will put a coat over the handcuffs so you can't see it um and then as soon as they get off the plane the police officer will put them in a wheelchair um sometimes they will chain them to the wheelchair sometimes they won't um depending on the circumstances and they'll wheel them around the airport and it's it's pretty weird when you know that you don't notice it but it's when you

00:22:56 - 00:23:00 | Speaker 4:

do you're like oh i would kill my boyfriend if he was the pilot on that plane and he didn't tell me

00:23:00 - 00:23:05 | Speaker 3:

they have to tell him i'm sure well yeah they he pulled me after the fact because i didn't notice

00:23:05 - 00:23:13 | Speaker 4:

If he didn't tell me before the fact, I'd kill him. Because if all of a sudden, next thing I know, I'm hanging out.

00:23:13 - 00:23:21 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and when you cover up his hands, I feel like covering up his hands like that is when Danny Trejo comes in and puts the keys under there and lets him out.

00:23:21 - 00:23:26 | Speaker 4:

And Mike, Danny Trejo is the greatest scary guy in movies. He is fantastic.

00:23:26 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 2:

And he's like the nicest guy in real life.

00:23:29 - 00:23:33 | Speaker 4:

Hold on. Aaron's on with us. You saw a prisoner at the gynecologist's office?

00:23:34 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 2:

I did. And I think we must have had the same due date because every time I went to the doctor, she was there.

00:23:43 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 4:

See, honestly, I'm okay with a female prisoner because that would be kind of like sexy to me. That'd be hot. You know? It'd be like a little bad girly. You know what I mean?

00:23:53 - 00:24:04 | Speaker 2:

She wasn't allowed to be in the waiting room. And so as I was checking out, she had a week behind me. And the whole time I'm like, oh, my gosh, I better not turn around.

00:24:04 - 00:24:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. I would have, honestly, the entire time been thinking of Orange is the New Black. But this guy, I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. I'm not kidding. He was yay big. He was like 6'5". If he played on the Lions, he would be reporting for her.

00:24:27 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 1:

We know we have the right to remain silent. We just suck at it.

00:24:31 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning. Channel 955.

00:24:33 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 3:

I really can't stay, but baby it's cold outside, but baby it's cold outside, been hoping that

00:24:43 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 4:

you'd drop the arm, quick question, is it okay to just start your car if you don't have a car starter and leave the keys in it, do thieves work in cold weather life?

00:25:00 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 1:

like this dude just take my car it's too cold i just want it to be warm brian ran you didn't hear i mean here's the thing i mean quite honest with you i know it's the hassles of trying to figure out what you would do but for goodness sakes i don't tell anybody right to say they got robbed because i think that the the insurance companies uh if they find out that you left your keys in the car or something like that they may not cover the theft but it's so cold outside i don't know how you you guys feel about this but it's so cold outside that i don't care if they take my car matter of fact it just gives me a reason to stay inside there should be like a a gentleman's

00:25:37 - 00:25:43 | Speaker 2:

agreement to boosting cars under a certain temperature we all agree you can go through

00:25:43 - 00:26:26 | Speaker 1:

steal the change but don't take the car do you guys look at that metro detroit news uh instagram oh it's the past did you see the one yesterday that what they posted of the there's a guy riding on the hood yes that's his girl right like that's his girlfriend or his wife or something she raised some text message i'm looking at this thing going this guy's unbelievable he's like riding on the hood of the car and i'm thinking i don't even know these people that you know have a window that won't roll up and they're having to drive with i saw a guy with a window that didn't go up and i'm like that poor bastard's got to go to i don't know what's it what's a window company what's the what's the one that when you break your glass safe light

00:26:26 - 00:26:44 | Speaker 2:

also i heard one of the weather guys say this morning that you're gonna get frostbite if you're outside and skin is exposed for 20 minutes right now so think about that dude yeah outside on a

00:26:44 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 1:

car by the way no longer called the lodge it's the luge because if you're driving down it at a time like now you're gonna be sliding and hitting those walls back and forth oh my god 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 shannon you were talking about how you feel bad for your mail lady my mail lady amber

00:27:01 - 00:27:39 | Speaker 2:

is her name shout out to her she i was watching her yesterday and i thought god first off it is so dang cold outside and she had like my neighborhood she walks door to door because all of our mailboxes are like up on our porch you know and half of my neighborhood it looks like didn't shovel their walkway um and then like even my walkway which was shoveled but there's so much ice and dad if you are listening yes i actually salted this year um but it doesn't do anything when it's this cold the salt does not melt the ice and i thought that is one of the worst jobs

00:27:39 - 00:27:52 | Speaker 1:

to have when it is this cold outside there are no way by the way if i'm a male uh male lady male man male lady if you're if you're a person and you got to work in a neighborhood like yours

00:27:52 - 00:28:17 | Speaker 2:

oh hell no oh hell no i mean honestly i can do without my mail for a couple of days right that is okay don't deliver my mail your person has to walk she has to walk so she parks her van she has a van she parks her van and she usually parks it i have like a parking pad outside my house she usually will park it there and she'll cover my street and the you know the corner and then get back in and move it. But still, you're hitting 20 houses.

00:28:18 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 1:

Why have those neighborhoods not gotten to the early, the 2000s? And gotten a mailbox that's out, like, I don't know, right in front of homes or, like, community mailboxes like apartment complexes have.

00:28:33 - 00:28:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm kind of surprised that's not, like, a requirement.

00:28:36 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, that's great. I feel like every neighborhood in Detroit is like that, too. There are no curbside mailboxes. 844 Megan Live. 844 Mojo Live. You've got to pay a subscription for that website.

00:28:55 - 00:28:57 | Speaker 2:

But also, yeah, I need that money.

00:28:58 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 1:

844-665-6548 is our telephone number. We want to talk to you. If you've got a cold-weather job and you're out right now, will you call in and do a cold-weather check-in with us? And then also, anybody that just leaves that car just running, if you're somebody that does that, has anybody ever been burned by it? Because maybe you guys will be the thing that will dissuade any of us that don't have car starters. I was having this conversation yesterday with Lydia. I said, the best thing ever that has ever happened to me is the Chevy app on my Tahoe. Because that Chevy app on my Tahoe is I can start that car from Switzerland. Don't ask me why I'm in Switzerland, but I can start it from Switzerland. It's the greatest thing ever to be able to just go on and start your car. You don't have to have your keys in it or anything? No, Mike, it's the greatest. What? I can lock my doors from the damn app. It's amazing. That's a game changer. That's a game changer. It's so cool.

00:30:00 - 00:30:15 | Speaker 7:

Cool. When we left the studio yesterday, I walked out with Lydia, and as we're walking out, I look to my left, and I see Lydia's car running, and she looks so happy to get inside of her car. Meanwhile, there is snow on my windshield, and my car is not running because I don't have a room most of the time.

00:30:17 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 6:

Did she do what I do if that happens, where you just sit there and you feel like you can't get in your car and just go away? You can't do the, all right, Cav, I'll see you tomorrow, jump in your warm car, and then leave. You almost have to stand there, not really to help you, but just to feel your pain a little bit. A sympathy pause? Yeah, like a support.

00:30:37 - 00:30:42 | Speaker 7:

I drove off so fast, I didn't even let my car warm up. Let's just get down out of here, bro.

00:30:42 - 00:30:46 | Speaker 6:

You're the guy that just drives off and the snow just flies off and hits you on the floor.

00:30:46 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 7:

Listen, I'm so blessed to have a garage these days. Oh, my God. Oh, good. I know. It's the greatest feeling in the world.

00:30:54 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 2:

I have a garage and I don't park in it because it's full of crap. Oh, my God. do something about it. That was my

00:31:00 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 7:

one goal when we moved into this new place. We put all the stuff in the garage and I said, before the snow hits, I'm making myself a space to park.

00:31:08 - 00:31:20 | Speaker 1:

Luckily, I did. This is the worst part. I have a car starter and no garage, but I can't use my car starter because my car is so far away from my apartment. That's right. By the time I get to my car, it's freezing and I have a car starter.

00:31:21 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 2:

I left my car running yesterday when I ran into the UPS store over here on 12 Mile to drop off my return. I just didn't care. I literally didn't care. Now, mind you, I have my key with me when I do that. So my car is still locked, but I do think it is highly illegal to do that. How does this go wrong without the key? In a public parking lot.

00:31:41 - 00:31:57 | Speaker 6:

Haven't you guys ever gone to the car wash at Jack's? They drive it through, and then they have to come and get you because you didn't leave your key in the car? And your car, like, stops. Did you know that? It will do that. If somebody tries to steal your car, if your key fob isn't in there, it will just stop the car.

00:31:57 - 00:31:58 | Speaker 7:

Whoa.

00:31:58 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, it won't allow it to continue to go.

00:32:01 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 7:

Do you know if it slowly decreases, or does it just like...

00:32:04 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 2:

Does the radio get quieter and quiet?

00:32:08 - 00:32:24 | Speaker 6:

I think once you change the gear or something, it won't work. That's kind of how it is. I didn't see the car driving down the road. It just slows down. David's doing a cold-weather job. David, what do you do, buddy? I do traffic service.

00:32:24 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. Do you have to get out of the car?

00:32:26 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 5:

I do have to get out. I have my son with me right now. He rides on the back of the truck. Oh, man.

00:32:38 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 6:

You made your son come work with you?

00:32:42 - 00:32:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because I do a busy town. Yeah, so he rides on the back of the truck. He wears a face mask and everything.

00:32:49 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 6:

You know what? Put the son on there. Who cares? He's young. If he falls, he'll, I don't know, grow another arm.

00:32:56 - 00:33:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I told him he doesn't have to ride on the back of the cup being this cold, but he wants to.

00:33:02 - 00:33:11 | Speaker 6:

That's crazy. Well, thanks for doing what you do, buddy. Appreciate you picking up that trash. What's up, Gail? How you doing, Gail? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:33:11 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. I hope you're staying warm. Yeah, what's up? So our company, we jet pipes, and when it's freezing like this and they're frozen pipes, it makes it 10 times worse. We jet and clear frozen pipes at this time of year. and we spent, I don't know, eight hours yesterday at a couple of different sites and all of us all work outside and it's cold.

00:33:32 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 6:

Man, oh, man. I bet you guys got a lot of business, though, with all those frozen pipes. Those pipes exploding.

00:33:38 - 00:33:44 | Speaker 3:

This time of year, yeah, business picked up because we were slow for a moment and then all of a sudden the freeze happens and here we are. We're all right.

00:33:44 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 6:

I can't figure out, by the way, if you should let it do a drip. Like, you know, they used to tell you to do like a slow drip on the thing.

00:33:51 - 00:33:54 | Speaker 3:

Always do a slow drip in your bathtub. It helps circulate your water.

00:33:54 - 00:33:56 | Speaker 6:

Okay. Thanks for that, Gail. Talk to you.

00:33:57 - 00:33:59 | Speaker 1:

Leave it running. Leave it running.

00:33:59 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 6:

Leave it running a little bit. Like a drip in the water so that there's water moving through it.

00:34:03 - 00:34:04 | Speaker 1:

So you think I'm rich with that water bill?

00:34:04 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. This is very informative. It's better than the bill from the pipe breaking. Ray, what's up, Ray?

00:34:12 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning.

00:34:13 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 6:

Morning.

00:34:14 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 4:

I was just calling in. I was listening about if you leave your key fob, if you don't have your key fob in the car. Yeah. They said that it will just die after a certain amount of time. Well, my mom has a Juic Regal, and I was borrowing her car. I let my fiancé drive it to take my daughter this year. And she called me because she didn't have the key fob, but the car was still running. She was afraid to shut the car off. So the car ran until she shut it off, and it wouldn't start after that. Oh, my God.

00:34:44 - 00:34:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's what I thought. So you can, like, get far away, but then you got to leave it behind.

00:34:49 - 00:34:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hers ran until it shut off.

00:34:52 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 6:

My mom, Shannon, also has a... I drive a Buick on thing, very proudly. Actually, Shannon...

00:35:00 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, don't worry about it.

00:35:00 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 4:

Buicks are cool now, you guys.

00:35:02 - 00:35:03 | Speaker 3:

I tell you, I went in.

00:35:03 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 4:

Okay, stop trolling me.

00:35:05 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 3:

My buddy Luke, my 25-year-old buddy Luke just bought a Buick, and honestly, it's a cool car, until I found out that it was a Buick.

00:35:11 - 00:35:20 | Speaker 4:

It's my favorite car. Nobody steals Buicks. He actually was driving. I have massager seats in my Buick. He came up to my- I'm telling you, this thing is beautiful.

00:35:20 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 3:

My buddy came up to my house, and I'm like, that is the coolest car ever. I thought it was like a Mercedes or something, and I go, what is it? And he goes, Buick, and I go, oh.

00:35:27 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 4:

No shame. No shame.

00:35:29 - 00:35:36 | Speaker 2:

I got a story about this later, but I was test driving cars the other day, and the Buick, I didn't realize it was a Buick either, because they changed, did they change the logo or something?

00:35:37 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 4:

A little bit, yeah.

00:35:37 - 00:35:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I test drove a Buick Enclave, and you're not wrong. They're not bad. They're the best. They're not bad.

00:35:44 - 00:35:54 | Speaker 3:

That Invista call, too, looked like a little Lamborghini, a Lambo truck. That car, by the way, also, the Buick Enclave can also give you an H.J., Mike, so if you're Whoa. That's amazing. Can I tell you? Sales just went up.

00:35:54 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 2:

I had to get that service.

00:35:55 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 1:

Can I tell you my dumbest moment? Buicks are not a very popular car in Northwest Ohio and when I saw a Buick for the first time in the Detroit area I thought it was like a Lamborghini or a bike ride I was like ooh fancy car

00:36:08 - 00:36:12 | Speaker 2:

it was that one

00:36:12 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 1:

yes I straight up was like that's gotta be like a half a million dollar car

00:36:16 - 00:36:21 | Speaker 3:

hold on Shannon's garbage man Dank is on with us right now

00:36:21 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 4:

I have a question for him good

00:36:22 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 3:

what's up Dank

00:36:23 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 4:

it's not today for pickup because of MLK Day. It's tomorrow, right? Oh, it's today. Oh! Dang it. I didn't put my garbage. That's okay.

00:36:36 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 3:

This is no different than any other day, Dang. She never brings the garbage cans out.

00:36:41 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 2:

She's got her mail-in and her garbage people going up to the door. She's like, I feel so bad for them, but also, can you go grab my dog?

00:36:50 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 3:

Dang, stay warm out there, okay, buddy?

00:36:53 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, well, you guys have a good day, man. Thank you. Today's weather forecast is, holy crap. Oh, holy cow. It's so cold that my boob is freezing when I breathe. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:06 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 3:

This is interesting. I want to get into this topic with you. Megan's been getting random boob pics sent your way?

00:37:14 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I have no idea what is going on. It is driving me up a wall. But in the past couple of days, I've gotten a ton of texts from numbers I do not know. and not in a way that like oh who'd you give your number to could not tell you the last time i gave my number to anybody and i mean if you come up to me and you want to connect i'm a big believer and send me a dm on instagram like i do not know you i'm sorry i will stalk you online love you so much give me that instagram and that is all you are getting and i have like this one came in yesterday just after the show and it just says hi girl and then uh what was the one that i have before this so this one was june of this year during the show they said hey and then like yesterday sent me a full boob picture that said hey i finally got them pierced i know it's It's been a while. Here you go. What?

00:38:16 - 00:38:17 | Speaker 3:

Let me see them back.

00:38:17 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 1:

No, absolutely not.

00:38:19 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't know who that is.

00:38:20 - 00:38:31 | Speaker 1:

If nobody has responded to you, like you've been texting somebody and they're not responding to you, why would you send them a boot picture? Now, this is a local number. I don't know if that number is being spoofed.

00:38:31 - 00:38:47 | Speaker 3:

This isn't one of those hi, it's me little things that people send you a text and next thing you know, you call them up. They collected all the information from your phone. Let's call him. Or is this, what is this? No, why would I call him? This is a legit person that you just don't, do you have their name in their phone?

00:38:48 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 1:

I don't, no, that's my point. That's it, you don't have it? These are random local phone numbers, and it's multiple different numbers that I've been getting random. No, not all of them are sending boob pictures, but one of them is. I'm just getting a lot of random text messages.

00:39:02 - 00:39:17 | Speaker 3:

Why am I not getting, why do I get Kamala and Donald sending out their political crap And then I get the, hey, it's me just checking in. You know what I mean?

00:39:17 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 4:

So a couple of years ago, this happened to me. And I got some guy sent a photo of his like, like the V right here, right above your penis. Do you know what I'm talking about? And it said something like that too. Like, hey girl, like I don't have your number saved in my phone. So I wrote back, I'm 10. Hi, can you give me money for candy? And the text stopped immediately.

00:39:38 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 3:

Was it a legit dude or no?

00:39:39 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 4:

I have no idea, but I never got another text. oh my gosh so that's all you need to do um that's that's crazy you're a minor pretend you're a minor

00:39:47 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 3:

they're not gonna keep sending boobs or penises to you what's up carol how you doing i'm good

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 4:

how you doing good what's going on this has happened to me well this happened a lot to me and my friend so what i do

00:39:59 - 00:40:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

00:40:00 - 00:40:18 | Speaker 3:

I look it up online, and it tells me exactly who's calling. Oh, really? Did you do that already? No. Yeah, and it could be scams. You don't want to open them up because they could be scams. You can get them to your phone. But it's not easy. It's nothing to open. It's not a link. It's just a photo. It says, hey. Yeah, I get those all the time. Look up the phone number. It tells you who it is.

00:40:19 - 00:40:32 | Speaker 1:

You do not want to. I'm sorry. I'm yawning. I'm so tired. You do not want to call that person back, right, or text them back. Like, who's this? Once you text them, I think. No. I think once you text them, they get ownership of your firstborn.

00:40:33 - 00:40:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, or something. But yeah, look it up online. I do it all the time for my friends.

00:40:38 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 1:

Did you like the photo, Megan?

00:40:40 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 3:

No, why would I like... I'm just asking you. You weirdos. He looks like you ain't never seen boobs before. You like boobs. You like boobs.

00:40:50 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 1:

I swear to you, it has nothing to do with that. I was out late last night.

00:40:53 - 00:40:56 | Speaker 3:

Doing what? Weird that it only happened now.

00:40:56 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 1:

We went to dinner. And then I literally realized what a bad idea it is to schedule a dinner on a Monday. What's going on, Colin?

00:41:06 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I was just curious. You're getting these for free? That is true, right?

00:41:11 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 1:

What's that number?

00:41:13 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 4:

You know? Yeah, that is true.

00:41:17 - 00:41:20 | Speaker 1:

Why does this not happen to us, Colin?

00:41:21 - 00:41:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I get the same thing. I get political messages. I don't get no messages. because, you know, like Megan's getting.

00:41:27 - 00:41:38 | Speaker 1:

You say you only get ballots, no boobs. Exactly. By the way, that would be interesting. Boobs for votes or something? Boobs for ballots. What's going on, Clinton? Hi.

00:41:39 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Megan. I just wanted to let you know I'm free of phones with you.

00:41:43 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 1:

Every guy. Every freaking guy. Oh, my Lord.

00:41:48 - 00:41:53 | Speaker 3:

I fully regret sharing this with you guys. Fully regretting.

00:41:53 - 00:41:59 | Speaker 1:

No help here on this one. No. Misfit Victor. What's up? Yes. Victor, what's happening?

00:41:59 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Good morning. It was me, Megan. It was me. No, I'm just kidding. They're always guys. It's always guys. It's always guys from overseas. They spook these numbers, and I always go back and forth with them. Always. You call them? Hey, Alyssa. Hey, Alyssa, can we meet for lunch? I'm like, oh, I'm sorry. Alyssa, it doesn't work. This is Alyssa's phone. Who is this? And I'm like, I'll either use two names. I'll be it's J.E. or Tony Travato. Back and forth. I'm like, what do you do for a living? I work security at Home Depot. And then she'll be like, I'm in New York. And we'll go back and forth. And then I'll just hit them with the most vulgar picture or video afterwards. And then they lose it on me.

00:42:36 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 1:

Quick question. Quick question, Victor. Do you not worry that they just stole all your information? Or do you, you know? No, not at all. I put them in spam right away and try to get rid of them.

00:42:49 - 00:43:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, not at all. How much fun is that? You just got to keep going back and forth. do you know shannon somebody answers oh my god no nobody they never they never answer yeah all right we'll talk to you later buddy catching cheaters and proud of it ow i'm sorry it's your

00:43:06 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 1:

home for war of the roses on mojo in the morning amy you think that your girlfriend is cheating on

00:43:12 - 00:43:26 | Speaker 4:

you what's the reason well you know so we've been together for four years and you know how you can just kind of tell when somebody's acting out of character oh yeah we matter of fact that's like

00:43:26 - 00:43:43 | Speaker 1:

so common with uh our war of the roses it's always usually somebody that's yeah suddenly acting weird or being suspicious you know yeah i just have that feeling all right um you guys uh have been in a relationship for some time now and uh when's the last time that

00:43:43 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 4:

you guys have been like intimate with each other um i guess it was like maybe a couple weeks ago that's kind of like another indication you know like when she gets cold it's sort of you know you know that something's going on that she's not talking to me about and yeah, I just I just have a terrible feeling

00:44:11 - 00:44:26 | Speaker 1:

We're going to call her up to see what's going on. War of the Roses here this morning. We're going to see where she's going to send a free dozen roses. Mute your phone. Please keep quiet while we're doing it. Don't unmute it until we call upon you, okay?

00:44:27 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 4:

Okay

00:44:27 - 00:44:32 | Speaker 1:

Alright, we're hoping that the flowers go to Amy. It's Mojo in the Morning

00:44:32 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

hello hi i'm looking for alicia please uh this is she hi alicia my name is nicole and i'm calling you from a brand new online floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers It's fine.

00:45:00 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 2:

you if you have like 30 seconds to answer two survey questions we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses that can be sent to the person of your choice anywhere in the country absolutely free of charge to you and just wondering if you want to take part in this offer uh yeah i guess okay alicia have you purchased flowers in the last six months No. Okay. And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months? Maybe. Okay. As a thank you for participating in that survey, rosesbloom.com is now going to provide you with that dozen free roses. And I'm just going to get some info from you about who these are going to go to. And we'll start with that. Okay?

00:45:49 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:45:49 - 00:45:52 | Speaker 2:

So a first and a last name. And they can be shipped out today.

00:45:52 - 00:46:06 | Speaker 4:

uh that's gonna be to shay shay to shay yeah so to shay or like t-i-s-h-a-y okay

00:46:06 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 2:

and what is to shay's phone number uh 734 2 Okay. And Alicia, I'm going to start a profile for you. So hopefully you'll order flowers from rosesbloom.com again. It's going to make this process a whole lot faster because I'm going to save all of, in this case, to Shay's information. What is her relationship to you?

00:46:39 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 4:

She's a really close friend.

00:46:41 - 00:47:08 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And we also offer something unique at rosesbloom.com, and that's a digital voice card where you can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered. So this message will be texted to Toshay instead of a paper card, essentially. So I'm going to count you down, and then you could just say something short and sweet, and that's what she's going to get with the flowers. Okay. All right. Three, two, one.

00:47:10 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Toshay. this is alisa i hope these make you smile

00:47:15 - 00:47:31 | Speaker 2:

okay great and alicia i also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes are you okay with that yeah sure great hey alicia i just want to do also

00:47:31 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 1:

wrap up the call here by telling you a couple last things okay number one uh we will send those flowers out but i do want to let you know one other thing i want to let you know that while you have been on the phone with us that your girlfriend amy has been listening in and just heard you send flowers to another woman great that's all you have to say alicia i mean alicia alicia amy said that you've been acting differently and that's why she was

00:48:13 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 4:

suspecting that you possibly were cheating on her well it can't be cheating because we broke up two weeks ago so i i don't understand why you care who i send flowers it will not together wait a second

00:48:29 - 00:48:30 | Speaker 1:

And you guys are not together?

00:48:31 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:48:33 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 1:

Amy, why did you tell us that you were together?

00:48:38 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 3:

I mean, we're not, like, technically together, but we do the whole breakup, get back together thing all the time.

00:48:45 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 1:

So, wait a second. So, you actually had a breakup. And then you said that you think that she's cheating on you, but if you're broken up, it's not cheating.

00:48:55 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it felt more like a fight than a breakup to me. But I guess it was a breakout. But we still have four years.

00:49:06 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 2:

It still feels really hurtful to send flowers to someone else immediately. Do you know who that person is?

00:49:15 - 00:49:41 | Speaker 1:

Amy, do you know who that is? I do. Is it some... I don't want to give out too much information because, to be honest with you, it's not something that, especially if you guys are broken up, It makes us feel weird that we're even checking on a relationship with you guys not even being together. I mean, am I wrong in saying that? They're no longer together. Why are we checking in on a relationship?

00:49:44 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 3:

Because I don't think it's the end.

00:49:46 - 00:49:53 | Speaker 1:

Why not? Why is Alicia so confident that it's over, but you're not? Where's the disconnect?

00:49:55 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Because this is how she is. We break up and I see her.

00:50:00 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 6:

on the like dating apps and I feel like she's looking for someone else but she always comes back because she's not finding someone who has what we have. Like I try to give her space and then she always comes back.

00:50:15 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 2:

Alicia?

00:50:18 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah?

00:50:20 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 2:

Alicia, you guys normally get back together?

00:50:23 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 9:

I mean, it's exhausting and I just, I want it to be done. I can't do this anymore.

00:50:30 - 00:50:34 | Speaker 2:

Do you mind if we ask that question of who this other person is?

00:50:35 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 9:

You know what? It's none of anyone's business.

00:50:39 - 00:50:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Then we won't ask that.

00:50:40 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

00:50:43 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 2:

All right. We're going to let you go. Do you still want us to send the flowers?

00:50:50 - 00:50:55 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, why not? She's over that relationship. Wow.

00:50:56 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hang on one second and we're going to do that. And we'll talk more to Amy. This is the home of Warm the Roses.

00:51:06 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 1:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

00:51:07 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. A couple minutes ago, Amy heard her girlfriend send flowers to another woman. But is it cheating? Because her girlfriend says they've been broken up for a couple of weeks now. Chris? Hey, what's up? I'm sorry, Jordan first. Jordan, what's up?

00:51:43 - 00:51:55 | Speaker 5:

So it's definitely been longer than a couple of weeks because I have never heard somebody rattle off a number that fast. And I've been with my wife for seven years, and I still don't remember it.

00:51:55 - 00:52:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and knew exactly who she was going to send with them.

00:52:00 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's like, oh, it's going here, it's going here. It's like, jeez, that's definitely more than a couple weeks. That's a couple years.

00:52:07 - 00:52:13 | Speaker 2:

What do you think about Amy, though? Do you think Amy is delusional in thinking that they're still together?

00:52:15 - 00:52:21 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I don't know why she'd want to be with her. Because she was really cold. She's just like, I want to help.

00:52:21 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:52:22 - 00:52:24 | Speaker 4:

Like, why would you want to be with someone like that? Yeah.

00:52:24 - 00:52:40 | Speaker 3:

And to bring your two points together, Jordan, I wonder if she's been with her before when she said that they've broken up a couple of times. I wonder if this is not a new person. Chris, what's going on? Your thoughts?

00:52:41 - 00:52:43 | Speaker 8:

Hi, guys. Love you. Good morning.

00:52:43 - 00:52:45 | Speaker 2:

We love you, too. Thank you.

00:52:47 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 8:

Oh, who kissed me? I did. I think my concern is I think she's a little delusional. I do think she's delusional. I think that the definition of insanity applies here. Doing something over and over again and expecting a different result is not going to be it.

00:53:06 - 00:53:18 | Speaker 1:

It's like you feel so bad for her because you know that she wants this relationship to work. But at the same time, she's almost doing it to herself at this point. And that she keeps taking her back when Alicia comes crawling back.

00:53:19 - 00:53:25 | Speaker 8:

because she knows what's going to happen right and you know maybe alicia's coming back just to

00:53:25 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 2:

bake those cookies that could be it could be good cookies though shannon what's up listener shannon

00:53:31 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 7:

hi good morning morning amy girl move on okay there is somebody out there that will love you the fact that you have all of america thinking you're gonna get seated on and y'all not even together come on man you are not desperate i'm sure you're pretty you're gorgeous all that it is somebody out here that will want to stop being the lulu and let that girl call you back you bet not answer that phone because if you answer the phone and you let all girl back you're gonna get it and you're gonna deserve it so just move on don't be the lulu it's 2024 shannon let me talk

00:54:11 - 00:54:18 | Speaker 2:

to her let me see what's going on here uh amy and some listeners uh think that this has come

00:54:18 - 00:54:29 | Speaker 6:

across a little stalkerish i okay well they weren't in this relationship so you don't think

00:54:29 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 2:

that uh it comes across a little crazy that you guys are broken up and you're still checking on

00:54:37 - 00:54:52 | Speaker 6:

her to see who she's with well because i knew who this person was this just kind of proves to me there was something going on behind the scenes that i wasn't aware of and i guess this time

00:54:52 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

i guess this time we're not getting back together i without giving too much information of the person

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 6:

the relationship how do you know this person she's a friend of alicia's who has been called

00:55:09 - 00:55:17 | Speaker 5:

just a friend oh okay i've been assured multiple times that that was the case i feel like you just

00:55:17 - 00:55:41 | Speaker 1:

wanted to do war of the roses to like be certain like or figure out who she was seeing i had a feeling what i'm saying is like you you know you were broken up you're you were just curious who the other person was and this was your way of finding out

00:55:41 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 5:

i mean i don't see it that way okay i really i don't know i kind of hope she would have

00:55:53 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 6:

send them to me is two weeks the longest that you've all been broken up before no

00:55:59 - 00:56:07 | Speaker 7:

all right um i'm gonna get back to taking some of our listener calls and you can take a listen

00:56:07 - 00:57:06 | Speaker 3:

and comment on them okay okay whitney what's up mojo in the morning show um i i just think that Me personally, and sorry, because I was a little emotional. I understand, Amy. I think people that are calling her delusional obviously have never been in a real relationship before. And I hate to say it, it is a little toxic. But a lot of times when you're in a long-term relationship, because I just got out of a similar situation for five years, you kind of go through the breakup, get back together, breakup, get back together. And sometimes you don't really know when it's fully over, when your feelings are still in it. so i get where she kind of maybe this was this had to be her closure i hate to say it baby but you have to move on this was probably your closure but it is a toxic thing but i understand why she did it sometimes you don't know when that door is completely shut and it could be the other

00:57:06 - 00:57:12 | Speaker 7:

person's fault as well in two weeks is not a very long time you know this go around it's not

00:57:12 - 00:57:17 | Speaker 3:

and if you got patterns and they were together for four years that's a long time to call her

00:57:17 - 00:57:24 | Speaker 7:

delusional i i think that's crazy yeah uh thank you for the call what's up uh naya i have to agree

00:57:24 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 2:

with the previous caller i think that she was mistaking the oh we break up and we make up all the time for her being in love with her i don't think she was in love with amy i think that she was literally coming back because it was convenient she was coming back because you were allowing her to babe you have to see more value in yourself you're still beautiful and Whoever, Tanisha, whatever her name was, she found ghetto. No, no, no, no, no, no. You don't get involved in messy stuff, baby. You're too classy for that. Let her go and see value in yourself. Because I really genuinely, I believe, I agree with the previous caller. Yeah. I think that she genuinely does love her. And she thought because she was always coming back, it was a cat and mouse kind of thing. Because she loves me, she's coming back. No. She's coming back because you're allowing her to.

00:58:07 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 7:

And after hearing what Amy just told us, I feel for her a lot more. And I would think that maybe some of those earlier callers would, too. What's up, Jen?

00:58:18 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo. How are you?

00:58:20 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 7:

We're good, Jen. Where are the roses?

00:58:23 - 00:59:07 | Speaker 4:

What an awkward phone call, right? I don't think Alicia's cheating, but I also don't agree with what she's doing. When Amy said, we've broken up before, but she's always come back, and she has seen her on dating websites, it's like Alicia's out there trying to find something better, but keeping Amy as her safety net. 100%. Alicia, she's clearly over this relationship, but she needs to decide in or out. You know, that's not fair to do to Amy. And I hope, I pray that Amy listens to this phone call, and she finds a little self-respect and doesn't let her come back. Because from what I heard, it sounds like Alicia's just using her until she finds something that she's more interested in.

00:59:07 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 7:

Well, there's a lot of pain, and there's definitely a lot of sadness there in her voice and Amy's voice. I mean, she's very hurt. I will say this. It's interesting when you have one of these relationships where it goes, you know, we're together, we're not together, we're together, we're not together. It's interesting how fast the one person in the relationship jumps back on a dating app. I mean, that is fast to go back up on a dating app. I mean, I think that after you break up, it should be months before you even think of that.

00:59:35 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 6:

I'm over here sitting on this question, but like, how long am I supposed to wait until I move on?

00:59:39 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 7:

Well, if you're quickly going to a dating app, that means that you've been out of this thing for a long, long time. And it could be that you've been on that dating app way before you even broke up.

00:59:48 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

I don't think there's a broad brush to stroke here, though. I mean, maybe that's true for some people. I think there could be another possibility to where maybe some people are hurt. And they're like, I just need to get over this and move on quickly. And that's the way that they deal with things.

00:59:59 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 7:

The whole

01:00:00 - 01:00:23 | Speaker 3:

you know slogan of uh uh the easiest way to get over her is to get under her is not the slogan that you should probably do in a relationship so which one's delulu in this situation right exactly i know it's a new word i'm gonna use that today i loved it that was good uh one last call uh blake you were in a uh on again off again hot and cold relationship like this yes i was and it was going

01:00:23 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 5:

on for almost five years my thing about it is i heard another caller say it was convenient i wouldn't call it convenience but what's familiar you know sometimes you're afraid to start over afraid of what if the next person is going to be worse or better it so you go back to what's familiar because yeah you have those good times but i mean do they really outweigh the bad times

01:00:46 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 3:

question for you when you would break up how quick would you go out and start dating again

01:00:50 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 5:

uh we didn't up until the last time the last time she got with somebody and that was for me to say you know what i don't need that you know so once you saw that you were like okay this is no longer so she's obviously moved on yeah and let me tell you now that i now that i am with somebody else i've found out that the grass is definitely greener on the other side good that's great

01:01:17 - 01:01:49 | Speaker 3:

that's good to hear hopefully the same thing for amy too uh where are the roses if you think that you're being cheated on text cheater to 95500 and like i said earlier this morning there's a lot of times where we have heterosexual cheaters i tell you what we would love to catch more people in gay relationships cheating but they just don't text us i don't know what the heck's going on maybe it's that you don't want to put your business out there on the radio or something But please, text Cheater to 95500 and tell us your situation.

01:01:50 - 01:01:57 | Speaker 4:

This is the home of the dirty of the 30. Throwback Throwdown, second date update, and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:01:57 - 01:03:48 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, of course. Channel 955 in Detroit and 104.5 S and X in Grand Rapids, too. So you know how sometimes you start seeing yourself through the eyes of your kids or through your kids' actions? And if this is started to happen for like Shannon and Kevin, Mike, it will happen even more as your kids get older. Yesterday, I got a phone call from Luke, who my college age son, who's at Michigan State. And he calls me and goes, Dad, can you do me a favor? And I say, yeah, he goes, can you put some money in my account? And we have this big strict thing now that we're on because Luke blew through all of his summer cash that he made in his graduation money. And it's like you're budgeted. This is what you get. you know allowance you get no more than that and he's like can you put more in there he goes i had to buy some books for school and i was wondering if you could put the money in there and i quickly right away goes oh yeah luke how much is it and he's telling me how much it is and i'm like doing it and then i'm stopping for a second going oh my god i can hear like the dream harps going off that bring me back to the past that's how i used to get money from my dad so my dad didn't pay for you know my college and stuff but my dad would pay for like my books and my things that i needed for school so i would call my dad up all the time and my dad never said no to a book like my dad was one of those guys that was kind of nerdy like that and so to him it was like oh yeah no brainer i'm gonna give you know buy his books for him because he just wants to better himself i would call my dad up like every day dad i need a book for school and i would be getting you know money from my dad to go buy these books and that's how i actually had money i think my son is scamming me i think i got it i got it and i don't know do you guys did you guys have a scam to get money

01:03:48 - 01:04:02 | Speaker 2:

from your parent or parents i mean my mom essentially caught me off when i went to college so you were done i was done and she warned me of that you are done aside from like paying my insurance and i think maybe she paid my cell phone bill i had to get a job that was the deal

01:04:02 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 3:

so there was never an emergency that came up like that um oh my god i'm i need an emergency bit of money and then you'd come up and make up some kind of an elaborate scheme just to kind of

01:04:12 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 2:

get money i don't think so i was so scared of my mom heck no really the retaliation no

01:04:18 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 3:

megan do you have anything with your dad did scott nick ever i'm a bad kid because i even had

01:04:23 - 01:04:57 | Speaker 1:

multiple jobs in college i worked on the radio station and then i also worked at red robin which you've talked about before um and so i had money and i oh god i'm such a bad kid i love my dad and he knows about this i just want to make it clear he knows now and he laughs i think so he doesn't cry but my dad had like a a stash of emergency cash and i knew where it was and so i would just he traveled for a living he was at home i didn't have to be sneaky i would just go steal his money all the time i didn't ask i just took it i'm such a bad kid i'm like my dad did that i think every

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

kid took a 10 or a 20 out of their parents I wish

01:05:00 - 01:05:06 | Speaker 8:

it was 10 or 20 oh okay i was like i did that you embezzled from your dad yeah overall oh

01:05:06 - 01:05:29 | Speaker 1:

lot lots of money i took lots of money from my dad oh my and where does your dad keep his cash now he doesn't anymore he's like not a cash guy which is so disappointing because i used to even when i worked in downtown toledo my dad lives in downtown toledo i would go to his apartment and look for money stashes when i knew he was at home and now he doesn't carry cash that's why

01:05:29 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 8:

844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to know how you were able to scam your parent out of you know maybe a little bit of money here or there megan's case a lot of money i never thought about that

01:05:44 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 2:

that was like a rite of passage in your childhood to like steal a couple bucks from mom or dad's wallet in the morning nobody has cash anymore so what do kids do well you get extra money for

01:05:55 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 1:

the book fair i was gonna say how many of your kids have your code cash out yeah i i none i hope

01:06:01 - 01:06:39 | Speaker 8:

i don't know literally honestly i they they will my kids will ask me to either uh um what the hell is it called on chase the chase pay thing zelle they'll ask me to zelle money to them venmo money to them or apple pay money to them because they need something something emergency just came up and the worst is like with the cold weather and it's like my winter code is not that great and then i realized they got a freaking can you know canadian goose or whatever that uh code is that they went to school with what's up mallory how you doing hey so my sister and i scammed our mom

01:06:39 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 6:

and asked for money to get our eyebrows back. Like, this was, like, 20 years ago. And then we went and tweezed each other's eyebrows and spent some money.

01:06:50 - 01:07:16 | Speaker 8:

Oh, that's funny. That's what I'm thinking. I'm thinking that Luke, there's no way Luke is buying a book. As a matter of fact, I'm going to go do an emergency visit to his dorm room, and I'm going to go and just go, hey, where's that book at that you just bought? I guarantee you that one kid in his dorm, Jake, the good kid, his roommate, probably bought the book and Luke is just using it off of him and Luke used that money at Harper's or something. Very smart. Yeah. Isn't that online at this point?

01:07:17 - 01:07:17 | Unknown:

Yep.

01:07:18 - 01:07:21 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, man. Simon, what's up, Simon? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:07:22 - 01:07:23 | Speaker 3:

What's up, Mojo?

01:07:25 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 8:

Hi. Nothing much. What's going on?

01:07:27 - 01:07:29 | Speaker 3:

First time caller. First time caller.

01:07:29 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 8:

I was wondering.

01:07:30 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no.

01:07:31 - 01:07:31 | Unknown:

I was talking about this.

01:07:31 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 8:

Simon. Were you trying to figure out what it was? First time caller, long time listener? or, like, you were trying to figure that out?

01:07:38 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know. I just heard it a second ago, so I just wanted to repeat it.

01:07:41 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 8:

Oh, that's cool. Well, good. First time, long time. We love you guys. What's going on?

01:07:46 - 01:07:59 | Speaker 3:

So when I was in college, I'd ask my mom for grocery money, and I'd be like to her, oh, Mom, like, I need money for groceries. Like, I'm trying to be healthy and all that. So she gave me $200, $300. I'd be going to McDonald's, Burger King, whatever.

01:08:02 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 8:

I love it. Isabella, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi. hi how are you guys doing good we're talking about scamming your parents for money uh yeah

01:08:12 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 5:

so i think i was in eighth grade at the time but my parents were divorced for a while um so i had asked my mom it was yearbook season so i'd asked my mom for forty dollars so i could buy a yearbook um which she gave me she's never gonna say no to that and then i asked my dad for forty dollars for a yearbook um and neither of them knew um so in turn i walked away with eighty $40, $40 extra.

01:08:35 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 8:

Wow, but you did buy the yearbook.

01:08:38 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 5:

I did. I did. Good, okay.

01:08:40 - 01:08:42 | Speaker 2:

But I had some extra spending money.

01:08:43 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 8:

Yeah.

01:08:43 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 2:

I think I need to be aware of that one because that's something Lucy's totally going to pull on me and Andrew.

01:08:49 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 8:

I'm telling you, that's when it starts. 100%. It starts at their age, Shannon. You got to watch out. And then they start telling you that things cost money. Like, you have to pay for certain things. I need this for lunch. Everybody's getting it.

01:08:59 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Smith tried that one. And I'm like, Smith, lunch at your school is free as long as you take a fruit and vegetable. So nice try, bud.

01:09:06 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I'd be selling my fruit and vegetable. See, that's what I did is I told my parents we had like birth back when I was in school that you used to be able to bring candy and stuff in for birthdays and like celebrate birthdays. So I'd tell my parents, oh, just give me some caramel apple suckers. And I'd bring them in. I'd sell them. And I would just make money off those suckers.

01:09:23 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 2:

I'm sorry. That's genius. That's an entrepreneur in the making.

01:09:26 - 01:09:41 | Speaker 8:

I used to sell Luden's cough drops. Oh, really? Cough drops? Those are candy. They were like candy, but I would sell them. My dad would buy them because he, for some reason, thought that they actually were good. And they weren't. They were just like candy. And people would buy them all the time from me. Jillian, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:09:42 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:09:43 - 01:09:45 | Speaker 8:

Hey, what's happening? You tricked your dad?

01:09:46 - 01:10:20 | Speaker 4:

I did trick my dad. So it wasn't money. But when I was like 17, 18, it was Easter and it was the morning. So he wanted to make a trip to the grocery store. and I was like, ooh, I kind of want to go. a drink so i was like hey by the way mom wants a six pack of uh angry orchards and he was like oh okay so then he bought them brought them home and he was like here go get this to your mom and i was like oh yeah for sure took them upstairs drank all six of them in like a half hour passed out for like two hours and then yeah and then my dad was like what happened to all those angry orchards

01:10:20 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 1:

i'm like yeah those were for me and he got it going on you evil genius i love it amanda you would get money from mom for uh tanning to go to the tanning booth yeah i wanted to be tan for

01:10:33 - 01:11:07 | Speaker 3:

prom because i'm really pale and luckily she works at night so i'd come home from school and i'd be able to like sneak in her truck and grab the debit card and then um i'd have to like go really fast to the tanning place and then like put it perfectly back in her purse before she woke up and she didn't know until like after i graduated high school she was like what are all these charges on my mastercard i don't go scanning so i thought i got away with it i thought i was in the clear and then like i came up months later and she's like i wondered how you got so and i thought your sister got it for you and i was like no and i'm the youngest of seven if i could just

01:11:07 - 01:11:15 | Speaker 1:

blame anything on anybody yeah uh and then stephanie stephanie i'm gonna actually do what your dad did for luke what what happened steph

01:11:15 - 01:11:39 | Speaker 5:

hi so um first time call a long time listener so i used to lie to my dad and said i needed textbook for school when i went to university of toledo and um i'd essentially be caught on and he would then say well i'll just meet you at the bookstore

01:11:39 - 01:11:52 | Speaker 1:

oh no i love it i'm doing that you know what next time he pulls this crap with me i'm just gonna do it and go all right well you know what why don't i do this i will go to to buy those

01:11:52 - 01:11:56 | Speaker 5:

for you today and then we'll buy anything else you might need well is his bookstore a barnes

01:11:56 - 01:12:02 | Speaker 1:

and noble no it's it's on campus it's like the campus book yeah ut's bookstore was a barnes and

01:12:02 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 4:

noble i don't know maybe it is to get my gift card oh my god yeah megan you have just become

01:12:10 - 01:12:38 | Speaker 1:

his least favorite i know i shouldn't have said that uh making a uh good first impression is always a good thing to do especially when you're trying to meet a bunch of listeners right uh they listen to us on the radio they hear you know what things are all about and then if they are ever out about seeing us in in public you know you want that first moment to be a good moment and kevin didn't do that when he just recently ran into uh some listeners actually they probably don't even

01:12:38 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 2:

realize what happened to you though kev right they know they know they do first they saw me and then i i'm a very honest person so i literally said what i was experiencing but it felt like the worst first impression of all time it was at a pistons game over the weekend and i sit like in the second row and shout out to my guy pete who uh is one of the the guys who helps you find your seat and do that whole thing and pete is on it okay if you need to walk through the stanchion you cannot go around you can't lift up the little curtain for lack of a better term by yourself

01:13:13 - 01:13:25 | Speaker 1:

pete's got to do it and you for those who don't know cav works for the pistons as the in stadium host of the Pistons games where Mason's doing the PA system, Kevin's the guy on the mic keeping the crowd going. Indeed, and

01:13:25 - 01:14:21 | Speaker 2:

Pete is making sure that the crowd isn't going certain places, and that I'm not going certain places without his assistance either. And some kids were doing some stuff pre-game, so parents are coming out, and then someone notices me, and she's like, are you careful of the motor in the morning? I'm like, yeah. She starts waving, and I'm like, I don't want to just wave. I want to go down and meet you. I want to touch the people let's take a picture they're so sweet i get what you're saying but you know what i'm saying how did it sound like you want to touch people yeah oh well i mean there's some of that in there only only in the best places i feel like i doubled down so i go down and i'm like pete is like helping somebody else who's the stanchion guy for lack of a better term and i can't wait for pete and at the time i didn't know how to do it so i'm thinking i'm just gonna move the stanchion over and slide my way through the middle stanchion

01:14:21 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 1:

what the little it's like a what a string like a velvet rope type of thing you know what i mean like but it's like they use they they use to make you wind around and stand in line and stuff like

01:14:32 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 5:

yes very dumb because i genuinely didn't know what a stanchion was and i was like somebody He'll explain it to me later.

01:14:37 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 2:

I thought it was part of a sentence. And it's not one of those, like, hooks where you can, like, unclip it. It's like a mechanical thing. You got to, like, pull a lever down.

01:14:45 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 1:

I one time almost got arrested by TSA security for trying to walk through one of those and not do it. Even though there's nobody in line at all. Yeah. They want you to do the whole zigzag.

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Which is ridiculous. I'm going under. I'm not doing the whole thing. It's not a maze. I know exactly where I'm going.

01:15:00 - 01:15:53 | Speaker 5:

I'm the only one here. But, yeah, so there's, like, this wall, and then there's the stanchion. I move the stanchion out of the way in a haste to get to these individuals. In front of Pete? In front of Pete, in Pete's face, okay? Should have done it in front of Pete. So move the stanchion thing, and I try to, like, jump over it kind of, but it doesn't really work. and instead of making like a soft and clear landing the top of the stanchion rides up the bottom of my leg through the sack area no it hurts so bad to the point i'm taking a picture i'm like she's like oh my god are you okay i don't even know if i smiled at a picture my face is like But I'm thriving in pain the whole time. I'm like, this is the worst way to meet somebody. This is their image, bro.

01:15:55 - 01:17:07 | Speaker 4:

Don't you hate when you're like somebody's seeing you from afar or whatever and they're waving to you and you're kind of waving back and then you trip over like your own feet and almost fall on your face? Everybody sees it. You're just praying that they don't. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I wonder about your first impressions we talk about all the time with dating. what was the worst first impression that you made you know when you were just meeting somebody for the very first time or seeing somebody and has anybody ever had it happen to them where they were walking in on like a first date and they're walking into wherever it is that you guys are meeting a bar and you do a kevin you end up like tripping fallen uh embarrassing yourself 844-MOJO-LIVE. The text is 95500. Oh, my God. Somebody actually texted in. Kevin586 says, I think I saw Kevin do that at the Pistons game. You got a video of that. You have to say that. Today, when you do the games and stuff, you know when you're on mic and when you're not on mic, right? Yeah. Have you ever had the mic on and you didn't realize it was on? No.

01:17:07 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 5:

But that happened at a Michigan State game recently. Really? And I'm into the game. Like, the State games, it's competitive. The energy is there. I forgot to turn the mic off. And at the Pistons game, they do a great job of, like, controlling the levels. So they'll put the level down even if my mic is on. At State, I don't know what was going on. But I literally was like, that's not a call. And you could hear it over the whole. It was, like, literally over the loudspeaker. Did the referees hear it? No, no, no. I mean, the guy next to me, I mean, everybody in the arena heard it, but the only person that said something to me was, like, the guy next to me and then the DJs, he's on the headset. Oh, my God. All the people on headsets, like, you can just tell, like, they looked over at me. I was like, I know. I just turned it off.

01:17:50 - 01:17:54 | Speaker 4:

I was too into the game at that point. Hey, Morgan, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:17:55 - 01:17:56 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:17:56 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 4:

How are you? We're talking about worst first impressions. You did this on a date?

01:18:01 - 01:18:29 | Speaker 2:

So, my ex-boyfriend did. And he was picking me up for our first day. Mind you, he was also in his parents' car. Like, his parents were also picking me up. We were young. And he was walking up my driveway, because it was all icy. And he slipped and completely ate it. And he was just, like, covered in snow on his backside. He didn't say anything. And he walked up, and I'm like, hi, like, why are you covered in snow? And he's like, I just ate it right in your driveway.

01:18:29 - 01:18:31 | Speaker 4:

I was like, oh. Oh, my God.

01:18:31 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 2:

Poor guy.

01:18:32 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 4:

Jennifer, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:18:40 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Long-time listener, first-time caller. This is awesome, by the way.

01:18:47 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 4:

You know what? This is perfect that we've been getting so many since the beginning of the year. We love adding to the team, the family.

01:18:54 - 01:18:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes. So let me say that.

01:18:58 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 4:

She said me. This is the last time. First time, last time. Slowly backing away.

01:19:05 - 01:19:18 | Speaker 3:

First of all, this was our first time, last time. I walked into the restaurant, like, slash bar. It was windy. As I opened the door, my dress was straight up in the air. In front of everybody. In front of my date. First time, last time, date.

01:19:18 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. So your dress pops up. I would think that that would be, like, the guy going, oh, my God, you know.

01:19:25 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 3:

Preview. You would think, but my track record of dates, no.

01:19:29 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 4:

No shave, November. thank you for the call appreciate it uh what happened sydney what's going on with you i'm

01:19:41 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

gonna go to sydney next um i was trying to show my dad a photo of this beautiful christmas gift i got my boyfriend if my boyfriend's sitting next to me my finger slipped and it was a picture of my boyfriend's ginormous hickey. I thought we were going.

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't know where that was going.

01:20:03 - 01:20:04 | Speaker 3:

His throbbing hickey.

01:20:05 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so that was the first time your dad and your boyfriend met?

01:20:08 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 7:

Yes. And the awkward, like, eye contact, like, looking up from the phone.

01:20:15 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 4:

It was bad. What did dad say?

01:20:19 - 01:20:23 | Speaker 7:

He just looked at me and said, I'm so proud. What a dad.

01:20:23 - 01:20:28 | Speaker 4:

What a dad. That's awesome. Thanks for the call. Appreciate you, Sydney.

01:20:30 - 01:20:38 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning reminds you that if you really show a lot of love to the crazy chick at work, it'll drive her insane. There's public service from Mojo in the Morning.

01:20:38 - 01:20:40 | Speaker 2:

Channel 955.

01:20:40 - 01:20:53 | Speaker 4:

If you've ever gotten a call from school that your kid was doing things at school or maybe selling things at school that he shouldn't be selling, then you can relate to Shannon and what her son Smith is doing right now.

01:20:53 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 2:

So I didn't even get a call from school about this. I was getting text messages from parents of kids in Smith's class, and I swear this child, he is six and a half, by the way. He's in kindergarten, and he is the most popular boy in the kindergarten at his elementary school right now because he has been handing out those bright orange foam earplugs to all of the kids in his class. okay you know you know which ones i'm talking about they're like in the individual little plastic packages and all of the kids in kindergarten apparently these are hot they want to get their hands on a pair and here's the best part i'm thinking to myself where in the heck did he get multiple and i'm talking dozens of packages of bright orange foam earplugs because he when i checked his pockets had pockets full of them um church he's been stealing them from our church, pocketing them and then handing them out to all of the kids at school. But I'm getting text messages from moms with their kids coming home from school with the orange earplugs in their ears and they're like, Mom, look what Smith gave me today. Don't worry, he said they were free at his church.

01:22:09 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 3:

He's quite literally the plug.

01:22:11 - 01:22:13 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love you.

01:22:14 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 4:

Did he just grab so many of them? I don't know.

01:22:21 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 2:

It was not a church service that I attended with him. That's kind of cool.

01:22:25 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 4:

I didn't even realize church is out of it. I'm sitting over here like, why are there earplugs in church? Yeah. It must be loud music. Well, the music can be really loud sometimes.

01:22:32 - 01:22:41 | Speaker 2:

So for maybe the kids or the older people, there's a little basket of them right next to the basket of mints, which I'm sure he's stolen every single one, and you can just grab a pair.

01:22:41 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 3:

That's the one thing about Catholic Mass that I love, is everybody mumble. You try to stay as quiet as possible. That music is just...

01:22:48 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 4:

Smith, by the way, when he's been around my kids, has always taken a liking to Luke. He was very cool with Luke.

01:22:57 - 01:23:02 | Speaker 2:

He told me Luke has the drip drip, which I don't know what that means, but I think it means he's cool.

01:23:02 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 4:

Do you remember the story about how Luke would order DoorDash at school and then sell it to his classmates and stuff like that? Like the kids at school? Yeah. Smith better never get that app on his phone when he's a little older. All of a sudden, he's ordering pizza at school, and it's pizza day. he's an entrepreneur he is what's up uh leah how you doing good how are you fantastic uh do you

01:23:25 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 5:

have a child just like smith i sure do um my oldest likes to try to do any kind of scheme he can to make money and at five years old he was selling mechanical pencils at his private school

01:23:40 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 4:

there you go mechanical pencils were the coolest I mean they were

01:23:46 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 5:

he'd have me take them to 5-0 buy a whole pack for a couple dollars and he would make a couple dollars of his own business plan

01:23:56 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 3:

you remember the NFL pencils you'd want to get your favorite team or those little helmets too

01:24:02 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 4:

I always got the Raiders for some reason I have no idea why the Raiders were always the ones that they put in ours what's up Carrie Are you there, Carrie?

01:24:10 - 01:24:51 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. Good morning. So my, well, he's 15 now, but in first grade, came home with stacks of dollar bills and $5 bills. And we're counting all of this money, like, where are you getting this money from? He was selling Lego figurines. So I had to call the principal and ask the principal why my son has all this money. I had to go in for a principal visit and give all this money back to all these kids. What? But did you get your Legos back? Yes, we did get the Legos back. Honestly, that's awesome. Why stop it? You have to commend him. Yeah. Well, he wants to be an entrepreneur and I see why now. By the way,

01:24:51 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 4:

these are the kids that are the Dan Gilberts of the world, you know? This is Matt Ishbia in progress here. What's going on, Molly?

01:24:59 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 6:

Hi.

01:25:00 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 5:

My daughter was about seven, and this is when fidget spinners and stuff were really cool, and everybody wanted all the fidget toys. She would take Taco Bell sauce packets and pass them out to her friends and trade them for more expensive fidgets because they're soft inside. So she would pass them off as a fidget, and she'd come home with these ridiculously expensive fidgets. And I'm like, where did these come from? Oh, my gosh. Again, genius.

01:25:30 - 01:25:55 | Speaker 1:

And tell me that this is a young lady that one day is not going to be the CEO of a company. Actually, to be honest with you, hold on a second. I just got a text from Colleen Grant, my boss. Could you please get Molly's daughter's name? We have a sales opening here at the radio station. Hired. We'll actually give her her own list, too. If anybody wants to sell you, we've got to get some good sales lists available for you, okay?

01:25:56 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she's got it.

01:25:57 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 1:

I love it. Bill, this might be the best of them all. What was your son selling at school? Mushrooms.

01:26:06 - 01:26:10 | Speaker 5:

What do you mean? Explain. The ones from Kroger in the refrigerator.

01:26:13 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 2:

He was bringing mushrooms to school.

01:26:16 - 01:26:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he'd break them up in pieces and sell them. I don't think they're just a piece or something.

01:26:20 - 01:26:24 | Speaker 1:

What was he telling people that they were buying when he was selling them?

01:26:25 - 01:26:28 | Speaker 5:

I honestly don't know. I don't know. How old was he?

01:26:30 - 01:26:31 | Unknown:

He was in sixth grade.

01:26:31 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's great. That's awesome. I love it. And then Katie. Katie, this is the one I love because I've heard this before from friends that have had this happen.

01:26:40 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 4:

My God. So I got a call from my daughter's school that she was handing out $100 bills at lunch. She was making it rain. And I'm like, what? and the principal was like yes um do you know where she got this money and i was like what i had taken her to my neighbor's house but i had to leave early for work that morning and she had her electric belt on the counter and my daughter pocketed the money and took it to work and was handing out hundred dollar bills

01:27:14 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 5:

at least she shared

01:27:16 - 01:27:28 | Speaker 4:

I was so embarrassed I literally had to call my neighbor was like he actually texted me because her husband was like it's not here

01:27:28 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 1:

how much did that cost you how many hundreds was she passing out

01:27:32 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 4:

luckily they got all of them but one so I only had to give $100 but I mean still also where'd she learn to make it rain mom Mojo Let me take y'all back to the beginning

01:27:58 - 01:27:59 | Speaker 5:

This is it

01:27:59 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 1:

Alright, are you ready?

01:28:01 - 01:28:02 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning

01:28:02 - 01:28:06 | Speaker 1:

You're a doo-doo hack Here we go, go, go

01:28:06 - 01:28:10 | Unknown:

Here we go, go, go Let's go It's showtime

01:28:10 - 01:28:38 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Show Our producer, Lydia, had a really rough day yesterday, and we won't get into why her day was so rough, but it wasn't good, and I honestly felt for her. And I heard you this morning saying that the way that you tried to get over your roughness was by going out to eat, which is my kind of girl, by the way, that you do that.

01:28:38 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 3:

I like to eat alone.

01:28:40 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 1:

Really? You actually go out by yourself, so it wasn't even like going out with a bunch of girlfriends.

01:28:44 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 3:

It's become like a two to three day a week thing. Really?

01:28:47 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 1:

Where did you go eat yesterday?

01:28:48 - 01:28:53 | Speaker 3:

I went to Famous Dave's, and you guys, I smash so hard.

01:28:54 - 01:28:54 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

01:28:55 - 01:28:58 | Speaker 3:

Good for you. I had a nice rack of ribs, and I was eating good.

01:28:59 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 1:

I got to be honest with you. I never would think of going to eat alone at a place like a Famous Dave's. Like, I would go to like a Coney or to like a breakfast type of a restaurant. I was so inventing. that's a perfect place to go to because you're messy anyway you who wants to be messy in front

01:29:14 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 3:

of another person i ate steak alone a couple days ago too so really dude i'm eating good by myself

01:29:20 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 2:

going there and getting way too many ribs so people can't judge you on their cornbread rolls or muffins are amazing yeah and then you tell the people you tell the people that are waiting on you

01:29:29 - 01:29:38 | Speaker 1:

that you're expecting another person so they bring more out so it doesn't okay so you went yesterday you did this but something happened to you there that kind of made you a little embarrassed

01:29:38 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because an ex of mine walked in the door as I was eating this rib, gnawing it to its core. My ex-boyfriend walked through the door with his girlfriend and their baby. And it was the most awkward thing I've ever seen. Oh, God. And they just looked at me and I looked at them and I don't know if his girlfriend.

01:30:00 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 5:

knows that we even dated because it was did you say hi to him no really oh no did you like make eye contact we did make eye contact so he knew he saw you you saw him yeah and we left off on like pretty bad terms so maybe he thought it wasn't best for us to have a conversation i would that

01:30:16 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 1:

would be the worst ever is to go to a be eating barbecue ribs and as you say smashing them and then seeing somebody that was once romantic with you as you're sitting there eating those ribs.

01:30:31 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 5:

Right, like probably a couple of years ago he would have been licking that off my face. Oh, really? The rib sauce off my face and now I'm licking it alone.

01:30:38 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if I necessarily would want my significant other licking the barbecue sauce off my face. I wouldn't mind. That's my barbecue sauce to eat. I still want that. And by the way, I can't imagine that the famous Dave's is really excited about that. You're an East Sider, right? So you're, you're, you, uh, you, I was like when people say you reside or, or you, uh, you home on the east side of town, you stay, that's where I stay. So you stay on the east side of town and, uh, you're brave to go do restaurants on that side of town by yourself.

01:31:12 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 5:

Why do you say that?

01:31:12 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 1:

Cause I don't want to run into anybody I know. Like I want to run into neighbors. I don't want to run into exes in your case. Like, I don't want to have that happen to me.

01:31:19 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 4:

Just because you're embarrassed to be by yourself?

01:31:21 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 1:

Uh, yes. I don't want to eat by myself.

01:31:23 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 4:

i don't know it is awkward at first i feel like once you do it more often it becomes more like comfortable but like it is the first time i ever did i felt like everybody here thinks i'm sad everybody's judging me like i'm fine i'm just busy and i have to go back to work

01:31:38 - 01:32:23 | Speaker 1:

i want calls by the way i want you to call up and talk about the worst place that you bumped into your ex because that's a good one for this uh lydia call thing but i want to get back to the whole going and eating by yourself thing um 844 mojo live where's the most embarrassing place that you ran into your ex. Lydia's was at Famous Dave's Barbecue with a big old rack of ribs. When I go into a restaurant like a Famous Dave's and they'll say, yes, how many people, like the hostess will say that to you? And you'll be like, one. They go, huh? They kind of have that look on their face like, what? They can't believe that you're only going to have one. Where it's easier to go into those other restaurants that I was mentioning because they don't care, right? They think, okay, well, yeah, you're just a person that's eating in between work hours or something and that's what the rush

01:32:23 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 5:

usually is because it's like lunchtime by the time we leave because i went right when we got off work

01:32:28 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 1:

so are there a lot of people that are eating there by themselves i would say like it's more so like

01:32:31 - 01:32:36 | Speaker 5:

co-workers just filling booths up oh yeah trying to snag a nice little lunch special i don't know

01:32:36 - 01:32:59 | Speaker 1:

it's it's uh wow somebody just text in and this is actually a great place i don't know oh it was deshawn that said said deshawn said lydia you should try bad brad's barbecue have you ever tried bad brads oh it's good uh the one i go to is in auburn hills the one that i uh stay at is in auburn hills and that's usually the one that i will go to kind of not that far from uh dte or

01:32:59 - 01:33:40 | Speaker 3:

now pine knob back again so that's a it's a good place uh what's up lisa i ran into my ex at my husband's office oh geez what does your husband do my husband owns an equipment rental business And we were eating lunch together and just sitting there chatting, and my ex walked in, about choked on my Caesar salad, and he had his son with him, and my husband evidently does business with him, had no clue, and so they started doing business. His son climbs up on the stool next to me, hi, lady, and I was like, oh, shoot, hey, kiddo.

01:33:40 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 1:

did he did he say anything like to your husband like hey we used to date or anything like that

01:33:52 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 3:

um not when i was there but i'm sure that conversation has probably been had oh wow

01:33:57 - 01:34:06 | Speaker 1:

that's crazy uh erin what's going on hi hey i just wanted to say lydia a meal by yourself

01:34:06 - 01:34:17 | Speaker 2:

is a great way to have a mental health boost, and you should be proud that you ate it all by yourself. That's great. Yeah.

01:34:17 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 1:

Very nice, Aaron. That is very, very nice. Don't share with anybody. Aaron, but would you go eat a mental health meal by yourself at a barbecue place? Would you do that?

01:34:29 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:34:31 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Yeah. So which sides did you choose, by the way, with your meal?

01:34:35 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 5:

like what did you choose oh i had a caesar salad and i had baked beans oh god i love

01:34:41 - 01:35:08 | Speaker 1:

baked beans by the way she'll be by herself in a second i don't know what's stronger here could you eat by yourself at a barbecue place i don't eat barbecue really i would go to a bar and eat by myself how do you not like barbecue i didn't say i didn't like it i don't yeah i don't We meet. No, but you can have barbecue salmon or barbecue fish or something like that. I mean, that's not what we're talking about. That's not as well. Ashley, what's going on?

01:35:08 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 3:

I can't barbecue salmon.

01:35:10 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 1:

Talk to him.

01:35:11 - 01:35:13 | Speaker 3:

Come on. You can have barbecue sauce.

01:35:13 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

I put barbecue sauce in everything. I eat it like it's ranch dressing. What's going on?

01:35:16 - 01:35:45 | Speaker 3:

Is it like ketchup to you then? I'm just kidding. What's up? No, I'm saying for Lydia. She is like, I've been doing the same thing. Just going on my own, trying to find my own restaurant, you know? Just by myself, like just shopping around. and you know what, I'm just going to go here tonight just by myself. No wife's nine, no mom's time. Just leave me alone. I'm just going to be me in a booth by myself and then taking it all in and then you're just window shopping everybody else that are like, oh, that's good. About an hour ago with the kids. I'm like Lydia.

01:35:46 - 01:36:00 | Speaker 1:

You know what would be fun is to stand up in a restaurant if you're by yourself and go, who's here by themselves? We're all jumping in the big booth in the corner. Sam, we were talking about running into your ex in an embarrassing place. Where did you run into your ex?

01:36:02 - 01:36:04 | Speaker 2:

Victoria's Secret. Oh, got it, Bob.

01:36:04 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 1:

Nice. And who is your ex with at the Victoria's Secret?

01:36:08 - 01:36:14 | Speaker 3:

Girlfriend. Your girlfriend. Oh, jeez. Did he see ya? I don't think so.

01:36:15 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 1:

Did you make... You should have done this if he did see you. You should have gone and bought the sexiest of any of the underwear that they have there.

01:36:22 - 01:36:26 | Speaker 3:

The wrong, the sexiest outfit that you could find and hold it up proud. You have these in pink?

01:36:26 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 5:

Wait, do you have this in the smaller size? Yeah.

01:36:29 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 2:

um where did you run into your ex amber what's going on on bumble i was uh i got on bumble and his profile picture was the engagement photo that i took of him on the hike where he proposed to me

01:36:44 - 01:36:47 | Speaker 3:

are you kidding me why did you pick that picture

01:36:47 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 1:

thought he looked good yeah like it was on his profile oh oh god um you want to hear a great place that somebody ran into their ex uh is this ali this is ali ali i screwed up all time every time ali and ali are usually the same but as you say ali it's ali on the phone can you do me a favor from now on and this was kp screening not can you put male female just so i know because usually it's a guy and i'm going is this ali and he's like this is ali um hey ali how you doing where

01:37:26 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 4:

did you run into your ex um so i'm actually in nursing school right now and one of our clinicals was at a prison um and so i knew he got arrested and everything i just didn't know what prison he

01:37:39 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 1:

was at and i ended up seeing him at my clinical in the prison oh in prison oh my god did it make

01:37:47 - 01:37:53 | Speaker 4:

you feel good though it made me feel a little good because he was like a little crazy yeah i

01:37:53 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 1:

I mean, come on, where he belonged, right there.

01:37:56 - 01:37:56 | Unknown:

Exactly.

01:37:57 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 1:

All right, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Don't you feel like Lydia should at least invite some of us to go have lunch with her sometime?

01:38:05 - 01:38:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, what the hell? I'll see you all on the east side. Famous Dave's, 2 o'clock.

01:38:09 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 1:

Actually, where Lydia lives has the best restaurants ever.

01:38:12 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 5:

It's true. I know we're always talking about restaurants.

01:38:14 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, I would have a hard time going to Famous Dave's because there's eight other thousand restaurants there. I wouldn't know what to choose.

01:38:20 - 01:38:27 | Speaker 5:

I hope they squeeze in one on Hall Road because I would be there. every day that's the one restaurant we don't have going to well and here's the interesting thing

01:38:27 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 1:

going to the east side of town and for those in grand rapids and toledo you don't know this there's this huge road there called hall road and it's got every franchised place around ever think of it's like going to the ultimate food court in a mall yeah and i never knew which one to go to i would always you always pick savaro you know what and it's honestly the worst of the food it's always been sitting underneath the heat lamp since like a month ago this is the home of mojo in the morning the world famous channel 955 mojo in the morning so you know i got just pretty much luke at home now and he's at school but joe is away you know he lives in florida and jacob is just finishing up school in chicago and so chelsea gave me the uh distinct honors so that she didn't actually have to run across anything of going into my kids' rooms and cleaning the rooms out because she wants to repaint the rooms because there's literally fingerprints all over the walls. There's head marks from when they would wrestle with each other. At one point, I look over in Joe's room, and there's this perfectly shaped what looks like a basketball went through the wall, but it wasn't.

01:39:44 - 01:39:45 | Speaker 3:

It was a head.

01:39:45 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

jacob's head when they were wrestling and doing their whole wwe thing and uh we're gonna have painter come and you know take care of it and stuff probably probably freddy blerta's uh uh you know uh uncle who's a great uh albanian painter

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 4:

And long story short, I go through the rooms, and I want to say this. As a parent of teenage boys, don't ever just go into their room without forewarning or expecting that you're going to find something. Because I ran across more crap in these rooms. First off, why would I even go to a dispensary?

01:40:19 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really?

01:40:20 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 4:

And my kids, I'm going to say this to you. Joe and Jake, Joe hasn't lived there, you know, for years, three years now. Jacob comes home for holidays. You want to find weed pens? I got every color weed pen. I got everything you need to know with a weed pen. They're all weed. Like, literally. It's kind of like, you know what it's like? It's like going into, you know, somebody's junk drawer and seeing, like, a junk drawer full of pens. But these are weed pens. Condoms, like, Taco Bell wrappers, cups. I can't have to. What's up with, and this has happened. We buy bottled water, you know, and have bottled water, like, in the refrigerator. what's up with my kids taking two sips out of a freaking bottle of water and grabbing more bottle water that's every kid yeah is that the most annoying thing ever it really is like i'm adults

01:41:07 - 01:41:18 | Speaker 1:

and what happens is you lay down you take two sips you fall asleep and then you can't have stale water if it's the next morning that water is stale stale water yeah i'll give you stale

01:41:18 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 4:

water you buy your own water and that will be you know when you pay for it yourself guess what you'll drink every last drop out of that thing but i wanted to ask the listeners this question what was the craziest thing that you found in your teen's room or better yet what was found by your parent in your room what did you leave in your room like i don't know kp you just recently moved out um and got your own place but before you got your own place uh and you were living with the family did you have to go through your room and get rid of and discard every bit of anything that had remnants of something that could get you into uh a little uh trouble with mom i never left

01:41:59 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 3:

anything out i would always i had a uh like a drawer not a drawer like a little cupboard oh my god i can't speak a little case that i could put like a lock on because i just didn't want anyone

01:42:11 - 01:42:21 | Speaker 4:

to see it or like guess what they had a little thing too joe had a little thing what like a safe Yeah, he had like one of those metal boxes. It looked like something that...

01:42:21 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 3:

Like you used at a garage sale to collect the money?

01:42:23 - 01:42:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like an old thing. And I opened up that thing and it had blunts.

01:42:30 - 01:42:36 | Speaker 3:

That's where I kept all my pre-rolls. And then that's where I kept candy and stuff for my siblings.

01:42:37 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 7:

Literally.

01:42:37 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:42:38 - 01:42:41 | Speaker 7:

Right next to the pre-roll. The candy for the siblings.

01:42:42 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 6:

I remember in high school, I went through a phase where I thought chewing was cool. like chewing tobacco or dipping or whatever so I would have one of those little spitter bottles in my room and it was like coke, like it was in a coke bottle and my brother drank it one time I got busted that way Mike

01:42:58 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 4:

the worst out of anything though you know you're going through your kid's room and all that stuff was going through and I actually went through in Luke's car and saw those what are they, Zins or what are those things I've been hearing a lot about these The tobacco, just straight on tobacco pouches or whatever the heck they are. And I was like, I screamed at him so much, man. And I didn't know what the hell it was. At first, you know what I thought they were? I thought that they were mints. You know the mints that come in like a little round circular? They're supposed to be healthier, aren't they? I don't know.

01:43:34 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 5:

So three things. Yesterday I found corn in Josiah's closet. Not sure the last time we cooked corn. When I was younger. On the cob? Like eating off the cob. like two like kernels eating cobs clean cobs like in the closet like the corn bone yes when i was younger i remember my grandma came and like cleaned up my room and they had a brief intervention where i came in i was my mom my grandma she was like we found bottles it was I used to have a pee bottle that they came and fixed.

01:44:15 - 01:44:17 | Speaker 7:

Why do boys do that?

01:44:19 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 4:

Tawny, what did you find in your teens room?

01:44:23 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 2:

Actually, with my parents. It was a kitten. I went to a party. Then I broke one.

01:44:30 - 01:44:31 | Speaker 6:

There's so many questions.

01:44:31 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 2:

Did they let you keep it? Yeah, I kept it. It's a whole life. We had to. My parents were a sucker.

01:44:40 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 6:

What kind of party has kittens that they just give away?

01:44:45 - 01:44:48 | Speaker 2:

Right? That's my question as an adult now.

01:44:48 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Misfit Steven, hi. What's happening?

01:44:52 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Man, I live on pizza upon each of my sons' best dressers. Here we go.

01:45:00 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 2:

So, we had to put a lock on our refrigerator because he would go in there at night and eat ice cream and just leave it out.

01:45:07 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:45:08 - 01:45:09 | Speaker 2:

All the tub of ice cream.

01:45:09 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my. Wait, and he didn't finish the ice cream?

01:45:12 - 01:45:15 | Speaker 2:

We would buy yogurt one day, and the next day, the whole thing is gone.

01:45:15 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's a kid after my own heart. Jamie, what's going on, Jamie? We're talking about what was found in your teen's room. What's that going on?

01:45:27 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Hey, first time caller, long time listener.

01:45:30 - 01:45:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So I found a fleshlight.

01:45:38 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 4:

A what? Oh, wow. Those are fun. That he ordered off of Timu.

01:45:44 - 01:45:45 | Unknown:

What?

01:45:45 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 3:

Timu? Are you serious?

01:45:47 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second.

01:45:48 - 01:45:49 | Speaker 3:

Who is he?

01:45:49 - 01:45:50 | Speaker 4:

Who is he?

01:45:51 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 2:

My 16-year-old son. No.

01:45:54 - 01:45:58 | Speaker 4:

Your 16-year-old son had a pocket pee? A Fleshlight?

01:45:59 - 01:46:00 | Speaker 2:

Yep.

01:46:00 - 01:46:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:46:01 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 2:

You can get those off. Also, how did you know he got it off, Timo? I found it.

01:46:07 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 3:

Also, isn't that one of those things that you're supposed to buy name brand? I feel like it's a quality difference.

01:46:11 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, there's a huge difference. By the way, did you?

01:46:14 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 2:

The texture's not the same. You have to be of age to buy that stuff in the store, and on Timo, he lied about his age.

01:46:22 - 01:46:27 | Speaker 4:

Jamie, did you do the whole, son, we need to have a talk before dinner type thing? or what did you do?

01:46:28 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to die.

01:46:30 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Just plop it down on the table? I wouldn't even say anything. Honestly, I'd just make sure that it was clean. Somebody's looked legit. Oh, wow. Sarah? Are you on Teemu? Yeah. Oh, my God. Get off Teemu. Wait, no. Show Mojo that right now.

01:46:48 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 2:

I just want to get his reaction.

01:46:49 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 4:

Oh, Lord.

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 2:

Who did that?

01:46:51 - 01:47:04 | Speaker 4:

Unbelievable. By the way, if you're ordering that on Teemu, what's the price? Sarah what's up Mike you want one good Sarah we were talking about what was found in your teens room

01:47:04 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 2:

yeah I found a coffee can full of pee in the closet a coffee can a coffee can full of pee

01:47:13 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 3:

also if you're getting up to go to the closet go to the bathroom you keep it by the bed

01:47:20 - 01:47:29 | Speaker 4:

you don't even get out the bed and who has coffee cans I don't even know people who do coffee cans anymore. That's amazing. Selena, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:47:30 - 01:47:42 | Speaker 1:

Hi. So my little sister was in my sister's room while she was living at my grandparents' house. And she had found her toy because it was accidentally going off and had to get my grandfather to shut it off.

01:47:44 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 4:

The toy toy. Grandpa's doing that toy. Oh, my God. I can't believe, by the way, you know what? I guess it's healthy, right? It's safe for sex. What's going on, Nikki?

01:47:53 - 01:48:25 | Speaker 3:

I found another child in my daughter's room. Oh, my God. What? It was in the closet. I found a our neighbor had ran away and the cops came and searched my house twice just because they were looking for her. My 11 year old daughter led the cops to other people's houses while the child was in her closet the whole time. And I walked in and saw a phone flashlight on in the closet and found her in the closet.

01:48:25 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second. How old was the kid in the closet?

01:48:28 - 01:48:31 | Speaker 3:

She was 14 and my daughter was 11.

01:48:31 - 01:48:35 | Speaker 4:

And so she was like your daughter's friend and she was trying to run away from her parents' house?

01:48:35 - 01:48:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, she was the neighbor girl that had actually like babysat my daughter before. And my daughter let her, she was afraid she was going to get in trouble. So my daughter made like a whole barrier for her in the closet. So, like, when the cops came and looked in the closet, they saw the clothes in the laundry basket but didn't see the teenage girl behind it.

01:48:55 - 01:49:02 | Speaker 4:

How long was she there? Oh, my God. Did you not notice that she was bringing food or stuff up to the room?

01:49:03 - 01:49:23 | Speaker 3:

No, they planned it out for, like, when I left to the store or stuff like that. That's when she would come out and go to the bathroom or whatever. Her parents even came to my house to talk to me, and we were all searching for her. like i was out searching my daughter was helping us search she was 11 that that's an insane story

01:49:23 - 01:49:28 | Speaker 4:

nikki that's wild so she was there for two days and i'm sure they had to have an amber alert or

01:49:28 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 3:

something going on at that time yeah they had an amber alert on the news oh my god it's crazy my 11 year old was harboring a runaway like for two days in her closet that is crazy Now my daughter's a teenager, so only imagine what I deal with now.

01:49:46 - 01:49:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Mike just brought up a really good question there. Can she get in trouble for that? Did she get in trouble?

01:49:53 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 3:

She did not get in trouble. She got a good talking to by the local police officers.

01:50:00 - 01:50:03 | Speaker 4:

She was trying to protect her, so that was the whole thing.

01:50:04 - 01:50:25 | Speaker 3:

Wow. Unbelievable. All these calls are unbelievable. I've got to take this call, though, because it made me chuckle when I saw it. Kat, we're talking about what did you find in your teen's room? We've had people call up that found, you know, fleshlights. They found cans full of pee. They found even a child. What did you find in your kid's room?

01:50:27 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 4:

We were doing a clean sweep. and you know those plastic three three drawers that you get for just junk i was cleaning out old videotapes and there was a turd oh my god it's like a little nugget how hard oh no it wasn't no nugget we ain't talking no nugget we're talking like full-on like poop emoji like like a horse just dropped one in the drawer whose turn was it and he was about nine years old was it fresh was it no no no no no it was it was nice and like fossilized i like how jannon

01:51:04 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 3:

goes jannon goes who's let's dna test it to see who's i don't know why did why did he say that he had a duty in his in his drawer

01:51:16 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 4:

it was closer it was closer than the bathroom right outside his bedroom door

01:51:22 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to lose your sleep. You know when you're like half awake? You're like, if I get up, I'm going to lose my sleep.

01:51:26 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 4:

What did he wipe with? Can you put a nine-year-old up for adoption?

01:51:36 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 3:

I have a video I want to share. See if KP can post this because I want to know if this is appropriate. We had a delivery to our house yesterday. I want you guys to go look at this video. of, and I put it in our group chat, I want you to look at the video of the delivery guy throwing my package literally from the street to my house. Has anybody ever caught the delivery person just like throwing their package? I could not believe this thing. This thing was, by the way, this might be the greatest throw ever. I actually did a still shot two of the thing, two, because

01:52:15 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God. Is that unbelievable? Why do these delivery guys do that when they know that everybody has a camera on their doorbell now it was i mean first off that

01:52:25 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 3:

throw that's like that's like professional isn't it is that unreal has that ever happened to anybody has anybody ever had um or caught the delivery driver doing something not just throwing it has anybody caught the delivery person doing something like have you ever had a you know ups Amazon, FedEx, whoever, like peeing in your trees or, you know, I bet you it has to happen. 844 Mojo Live, 844-665-6548. The craziest was that Chelsea, it was that I think luckily it was a pair of jeans that Chelsea ordered. So she ordered these jeans. But look at that package flying in the sky. I caught it like still shot. It's midair. It's unbelievable.

01:53:21 - 01:53:23 | Speaker 1:

Your porch pots look very nice. Look at this guy.

01:53:24 - 01:54:04 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Kev is right. Can we find out if this guy is a cornhole champion? I'm telling you. We should do it. I remember one time where a friend of mine was getting, he was getting furniture delivered. He was getting new furniture and he had the guy, and I think it might have been, it might have been the guy in the brown truck, the big brown truck. through his furniture. He lived in Birmingham. And you know how the sidewalks, the street and the sidewalks are right there and then the house is not that far? Like, it's not like it's a long walk. He was parked on the street. He threw it over the sidewalk.

01:54:04 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 1:

No, furniture?

01:54:05 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 3:

I swear to Chelsea or Shannon, I swear to hand to God, he had the video of the guy throwing it and he was throwing it from the street. He never had to take one step onto his property to do this thing. And I know that there are certain neighborhoods where the street is close to the house. Those are usually the ones where they don't have mailboxes. They have them right up on their thing. You can throw it right to it. What's going on, Yoshi?

01:54:36 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 2:

Hey.

01:54:37 - 01:54:37 | Speaker 3:

How are you?

01:54:38 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

01:54:39 - 01:54:43 | Speaker 3:

Fantastic. We're talking about what did you catch the delivery person doing?

01:54:44 - 01:54:56 | Speaker 2:

I'm a mailman. Oh. And I've done it myself. I'm not going to lie. All right? But I popped my package.

01:54:57 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 3:

How do you know it's not a breakable item?

01:55:00 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 7:

them in there i mean usually it says fragile okay if it doesn't say fragile so if you don't put fragile on it yoshi's gonna throw it all the way up on the doorstep listen listen the smaller the package the more i know it's not breakable yeah by the way doesn't work like you my bulbs the smaller the package that's what she said the less breakable that it is

01:55:32 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 8:

he probably has some crazy stories because I'm sure the mishandling doesn't just take place during delivery like back where they actually have to pack up stuff that's why we're getting crazy bro it's in the truck one of the homies work for the postal service at LA I don't usually throw packages but when I do

01:55:50 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 3:

but when I do I'm trying to get my stuff done and whatnot?

01:55:56 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:55:56 - 01:56:07 | Speaker 3:

Hey, listen. Don't sit here and get 17 packages and you got to make me do 17 walks from my truck to the house.

01:56:09 - 01:56:14 | Speaker 7:

By the way, is Kev right? Are the guys back loading the truck up? Are they just throwing those things all over the place?

01:56:15 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 3:

No, no, no, no. We're not throwing them. We're talking them. They're talking them.

01:56:19 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. You are so dumb.

01:56:23 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I love this guy. Julie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:56:29 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 4:

Hey, first time caller. Hey, there. Hey, Julie's on the phone.

01:56:33 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 7:

Julie, what'd you catch the delivery guy doing?

01:56:36 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 4:

I had a company deliver cabinets to my house, kitchen cabinets, and they took them out of the back of their truck and literally rolled them one by one and flipped them all the way up my driveway, up the walkway, and into my house instead of using a dolly or carrying them.

01:56:55 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. How bad do those cabinets get dinged?

01:56:59 - 01:57:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really bad. And then they didn't understand why. Of course.

01:57:04 - 01:57:10 | Speaker 7:

That's crazy. And these are kitchen cabinets. I mean, these are items that are made of wood. They're fragile. What's up, Lisa?

01:57:11 - 01:57:12 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you?

01:57:12 - 01:57:15 | Speaker 7:

Good. We're talking about what did you catch the delivery guy doing?

01:57:17 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 5:

Well, a no-name small truck backed into my driveway. I have a camera on my garage, and I have a ring doorbell on my front door, and I have an outside cat. And so all of a sudden, I see the guy pick my cat up, and my cat gets in the truck with him. And I was like, there's no way this guy just stole my cat. Sure enough, he pulls out of my driveway, the window, his driver's side window's down, and I caught it on my ring doorbell. I don't know if my cat jumped out or he tossed my cat out, but my cat came flying back up my driveway. Oh, my gosh. You probably did throw it.

01:57:49 - 01:57:54 | Speaker 7:

that's that's insane the guy was trying to steal your cat and your cat fought back

01:57:54 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 5:

yeah he was like no no packages for you and took off but it was crazy he um i mean i kept super friendly but i was like oh my gosh that was i mean that was probably not going to be a good day when

01:58:05 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 7:

i got home we had uh that as a story i think once where the cats or the the delivery person stole the dog it was like a person's nice dog so scary uh what's up jordan hi hey there what's going on And we're talking about how the delivery driver threw my package. What did you have a delivery driver do?

01:58:24 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, our Amazon driver, I actually have a video on TikTok, but it wouldn't go through on the text message for you guys to show it's justice. But he had to put our packages in our backpack first. And then when he got to our porch, he literally just bent over and slung our packages out of our bag onto our porch, leaving behind Lifesaver wrappers and stuff, too. So that's when he had to look at the camera. He had wrappers all over the place with our packages just thrown everywhere.

01:58:57 - 01:58:59 | Speaker 7:

Thank God for ring cameras.

01:58:59 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 6:

He had to do a free time to get all the packages out.

01:59:01 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Thank God, by the way, for those ring cameras. What's up, Kylie? Or Kyle?

01:59:08 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 2:

Kyle, yeah, this is him. Hi, Kyle. What's up? Yeah, last week, my dog scared the crap out of him, out of the, I think it was a UPS driver.

01:59:20 - 01:59:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah?

01:59:20 - 01:59:33 | Speaker 2:

Comes running up on my porch, and my dog started barking. He ran. I have a laugh, so you'd think I'll laugh when he's getting a little bark.

01:59:33 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 7:

So wait, so the dog scared the crap out of him. So what did he do?

01:59:40 - 01:59:44 | Speaker 2:

He threw the package on the porch and ran back to him.

01:59:45 - 01:59:49 | Speaker 7:

Well, your dog almost bit him. I would have done the same thing, too.

01:59:50 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's a big dog, too, so.

01:59:53 - 01:59:54 | Speaker 7:

What kind of dog you got?

01:59:54 - 01:59:56 | Speaker 2:

A lamb. A silver lamb.

01:59:56 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 7:

And what's her name? A silver lamb.

01:59:58 - 01:59:58 | Speaker 2:

Molly.

01:59:59 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 7:

Poor Molly.

02:00:00 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 3:

I always wondered about that with like these, you know, postal people, drivers that work for Amazon or whatever. Like you got people that just have their dogs and cats and stuff like that out in front of the house.

02:00:12 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 2:

Dude, I don't know what it is about my dog. My dog is so like afraid of everything except the mailman. And if she could murder, she would. Really? Oh, she frees out of the mailman.

02:00:25 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 3:

Coraline doesn't like the mailman.

02:00:26 - 02:00:44 | Speaker 2:

Hates the mailman. I've never seen her act like that ever before. Has the mailman ever stepped inside? No. Has she ever interacted with the mailman? Absolutely not. Does the mailman also carry dog treats for all of the other nice dogs in the neighborhood? Mm-hmm. But for some reason, my dog is out to kill that guy.

02:00:45 - 02:00:50 | Speaker 3:

Does Coraline get a treat from the mailman or because Coraline's acting up, she doesn't get a treat?

02:00:50 - 02:00:53 | Speaker 2:

That dog is demonic when a mailman is around.

02:00:54 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 3:

Listen to this one. Tanisha, what did the delivery driver do?

02:00:58 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 1:

He came and delivered my packages on the front door. He placed them on the porch, but then he walked around the back of the house and he peed in my trees. No, oh my God. I was like, where is he going? Because I caught the whole thing on camera and he literally peed in. And then he did like a little hip dance back and forth. So he was making circles with it. That's probably the only one he had all day.

02:01:20 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 3:

You got to send that video to us. That's priceless. That's awesome. Kev had somebody pinch his butt.

02:01:27 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 4:

I do not wait to hear this story. That's the story. The lady literally pinched my booty. I know, but who was she? What she looked like? Is she hot? No. I feel like she would have been hotter 30 years ago. She's still an attractive lady, but she's significantly older than all of us here right now. Oh. She's pushing the line. She would get free breakfast at Denny. Really? The thing that I realized is a lot. Listen, as if I didn't already, a lot of people listen to this show and a lot of people that I work with. And this young lady, I'll be kind, is one of our fantastic security guards that represents LCA. So this is at a Pistons game. And we have one of the best media dining areas in all of the NBA. So if you're a part of the media or a part of the game day staff, there's this specific kitchen area where you can go, I guess, quote unquote, backstage, but in the rear of the house and eat food. So I go through there, and I'm always wearing a hat. 99 out of 100 days you'll see me, I'll have a hat on. But this day, I just didn't. I feel like the outfit worked better without the hat. So people do not recognize me without my hat on. So I get a double look, like, very often. So as I'm walking into Media Diner, she's like, Kev. And I've already passed her at this point. So I turn around. She's like, okay. I'm like, what's up? She's like, I've never seen you without a hat on. I'm like, yeah, I don't have it on. She's like, looking good, still handsome. I was like, okay, you know, it was kind of like one of those made you feel uncomfortable kind of things. I was like, okay, you know, so I go get my little tea, hot water, two packs of honey, scoop them out, dump them in there, whip them up, and I go on by my way. I have to walk back past her in order to go out to like where the game is. As I'm walking past her, she reaches out and I guess pinches my butt and I turn around kind of and she just winks at me like. i turn around and i keep walking there's no need for conversation but whoa i've never i've never had that happen to me in real life this is only something i've seen that's the song

02:03:31 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 3:

can i can i tell you something though don't ever discount because of an age yeah and i think when you're at that age if if this woman is what i'm thinking her age is she can you know she can get away with anything for some reason certain older people get away with stuff they can do it but also these women are hot have you not seen some of these like i i saw a woman the other day and i'm telling you she had to be pushing 70 and i'm not gonna lie to you she had a body that was

02:04:05 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 1:

unbelievable 70 is the new 50 i'm telling i'm telling you i'm not agreeing come on not agreeing

02:04:13 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 2:

By the way, it's still not okay what she did.

02:04:16 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm not going to start. Oh, it's fine, though. You're okay with it. Here's my limit. If you can't properly apply lipstick to where it stays on the part of the lip it should, once you start coloring out the lines, so to speak, you're beyond the age. Wait a second. Come on.

02:04:31 - 02:04:33 | Speaker 3:

Wait, but I feel like I don't do my lipstick very well. No, look.

02:04:33 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 4:

Y'all don't see old ladies who can't put lipstick on the right way, and it'd be above the lip line. All over their teeth. All over their teeth. Come on, man. What are we doing?

02:04:41 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 2:

A couple of eyes can't afford lip filler anymore, and that's how we just make it look a little plump. We have to line outside of the lips, Kev.

02:04:50 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Brad? You work here?

02:04:52 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 1:

You do.

02:04:52 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 3:

Hey, morning, guys. Morning.

02:04:54 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 1:

It sounds like Kevin got a VIP security guard for life.

02:04:58 - 02:05:01 | Speaker 3:

That's right, exactly. Those are the people you've got to make friends with.

02:05:02 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:05:02 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 3:

Look, man, I haven't had sex in a minute, but I ain't that desperate.

02:05:05 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 2:

No, come on. Wait a second. So what is your age cutoff, then? What's the oldest that you would be excited that they pinch their butt?

02:05:13 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 3:

You have to look a certain way. I don't want to be, what's the word? What's the word, Johnny? Ageism? No, not ageism. I don't want to be. Discriminatory? Let's just go with that one. I'm not trying to discriminate people. But because if you're 70 and you look old, then that's different than if you're 70 and you look old. Oh, that's an interesting line. Like, who did you just show me? Helen Mirren. Helen Mirren. She pinched my butt. We might have a conversation. Really?

02:05:41 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 1:

Kendall Reeves is a lot older than you think.

02:05:43 - 02:05:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, I think you'd be surprised. You'd be surprised. That restaurant that we were at on, we were at Ocean Prime on Saturday night. There were some old rich ladies at the bar that were winking as we were walking out. What's going on, Phil?

02:06:00 - 02:06:01 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Mojo, love you guys.

02:06:01 - 02:06:03 | Speaker 2:

Hey, we love you, too.

02:06:03 - 02:06:04 | Speaker 3:

We love you, too.

02:06:04 - 02:06:05 | Speaker 2:

What's happening, buddy?

02:06:06 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Kev, Kev, you just got to have her pop her teeth out and have a great time, bud. Oh!

02:06:10 - 02:06:11 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:06:11 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 2:

Anyway, let her gum me down. Lydia, let me tell you something. Lydia, are we vetting these people at all? Are you screening something to me that he said to you? Okay. I love you. Love you, guys. I love you, too.

02:06:26 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 1:

I love having a job. Thanks for risking that. Yeah.

02:06:30 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 2:

He said, pop the T-foam. All right. When you argue with idiots, people can't tell who the idiot is. We fail to understand that on this show.

02:06:40 - 02:06:42 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:43 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 2:

This now sounds like it would be one hell of a party. what is the largest door dash order that you have ever done shannon might have witnessed the largest in metro detroit well and it is it involves you you're you you and the kids it

02:06:58 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 1:

wasn't even a party it was a it was a play date so lucy's in fourth grade and she got invited to a friend's house yesterday um and so she went to this friend's house on the bus after school which was always like the best thing ever yeah you had that note that you got to get off on a different bus stop anyway um so she goes to her friend's house and her her girlfriend had a few little girls over and she has two brothers and he had some friends over as well props to this mom who i know very well she is the best mom in the whole entire world because she had a lot of kids at her house yesterday so i went with smith to go pick up lucy from this play date and when i got there the mom was like oh my gosh can you guys hang around for a little bit i just got doordash and the kids you know can lucy stay and eat for a second and i was like yeah okay that's fine so smith and i went inside took off our coats and you know we were hanging out in her kitchen the doordash order arrives it's from mcdonald's okay hell yeah the order was 300 chicken mcnuggets and 20 orders of fries. Jesus.

02:08:14 - 02:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Ba-da-ba-ba-ba.

02:08:16 - 02:08:41 | Speaker 1:

You guys, I have never seen 300 chicken nuggets. And what she did, what the mom did was she took them all, and I was helping her do this. She took them all out of, like, the boxes and the bags and put them in one large, like, the family puke bowl. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like, one of those big party bowls, and you just kept dumping chicken nuggets in there for all of the kids to come and grab. And I was like, oh, my God. Like, I didn't even know that you could DoorDash that.

02:08:41 - 02:08:47 | Speaker 2:

That McDonald's eats you. It was like a bowl of chips. Yeah. But it was chicken.

02:08:47 - 02:09:02 | Speaker 1:

I actually took a picture of it, I think. And also, I've done this, but I had consumed something before the order, and I tried to Obviously, these were fourth graders. They did not. Well, that was a big DoorDash order. That we know of.

02:09:02 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 3:

Half of you are high right now. I'm like, Megan, I've done that before, too.

02:09:07 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 2:

Is it weird to say this, but I don't like eating McDonald's unless I get it out of my own wrapper.

02:09:17 - 02:09:18 | Speaker 3:

No, that is wild.

02:09:19 - 02:09:48 | Speaker 2:

I one time went to a Purdy, and they had McDonald's as a joke. It was like, hey, we're going to have a party. Everybody come on over. We show up there, and they did this similar where they went to McDonald's, and they bought a bunch of food. And it was just laid out on plates and everybody can go up there and grab a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder or whatever it might be. And honestly, I was kind of taken back by it. I want it like with nuggets or as you call them, nuggies. Weren't you the nuggie lady?

02:09:48 - 02:09:50 | Speaker 1:

I love calling them nuggies.

02:09:51 - 02:09:55 | Speaker 2:

I would think that the kids would be like wanting them in their little four pack or whatever it is.

02:09:55 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

They didn't get a choice. No, I feel like the mom's done this before because she as soon as she got the order, like she's.

02:10:00 - 02:10:03 | Speaker 4:

talking to me like it was no big deal she just kept dumping them into the bowl and i was like

02:10:03 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 2:

and she knew exactly what bowl was going to fit 300 nuggets that's amazing i was going to ask if they all came in but i bet they just came in separate boxes i thought there was like one big

02:10:11 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 3:

box no if you work if you work at a mcdonald's and a door dash order comes for 300 nuggets

02:10:18 - 02:10:36 | Speaker 1:

do you go oh right last time i did this they wouldn't even start my order until we paid because they thought I was going to drive off. Because the last time I ordered about 150 nuggets, they were like, nope, you can come through and you can pay for everything. And then we'll start.

02:10:36 - 02:10:44 | Speaker 3:

Come up to the window and not only are we going to make you pay, we're also going to take your temperature and have you talk to Ronald's psychiatrist.

02:10:44 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 2:

Do you have to do the math when you order that many nuggets? Like is it a six-piece divided by 300? Do you got to do that? Or do you say, I need 300 nuggets?

02:10:52 - 02:10:57 | Speaker 1:

No, they sell them in 40 packs. Yeah. And then around the Super Bowl, I think they even do one.

02:10:57 - 02:11:03 | Speaker 3:

How many 40 packs is 300 nuggets? Go. I don't know.

02:11:03 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 1:

I can't work.

02:11:06 - 02:11:17 | Speaker 3:

By the way, at the end of the show at 1030, I'll give you the answer because that's about when I'll get it. So how many orders of fries do you have to get with that? 20. She got 20. So 20.

02:11:17 - 02:11:19 | Speaker 4:

She dumped those into another big bowl.

02:11:20 - 02:11:21 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:11:21 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 4:

Just tons. It was crazy.

02:11:22 - 02:11:28 | Speaker 3:

Wait, did she get ketchup packages or did she use her own ketchup? Because McDonald's ketchup is better than ketchup.

02:11:28 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 4:

No, there were ketchup packages.

02:11:29 - 02:11:55 | Speaker 3:

But I thought to myself, God, I need to step up my plate game because I'm not doing that. You know what's funny? All I keep thinking of right now is, was McDonald's a little stingy when it came to giving you the sauces that you need? They're like, oh, 300 nuggets. Here you go. Here's three sweet and sours. What? What? Make it work. Remember how they did that at one point? Remember? They may not be as bad as they used to be.

02:11:55 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 4:

Rationing the sauces. Remember that?

02:11:56 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 3:

They would not. Like, you'd go to McDonald's and you'd get, like, I'd like a kid's meal. And can I get, like, five extra sauces? And they're like, no.

02:12:02 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:12:02 - 02:12:04 | Speaker 3:

We can't do that anymore. Doesn't happen.

02:12:04 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 4:

Well, they actually didn't give any sweet and sours. And the only reason I know that is because that's Smith's favorite. And he was like, Mom, they only have barbecue sauce and ketchup. I'm like, Smith, shut up. We're not even supposed to be eating here. No, he's right.

02:12:15 - 02:12:28 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's a brave mom to have barbecue sauce and ketchup running around her house with kids. uh alex how you doing good morning what's going on did that sound like a dream come true 300 nuggets

02:12:28 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 5:

i've ordered 100 before and i told the counter to take their time that way they can get everybody else out as they cook fine really what were you ordering 100 for

02:12:38 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 3:

was it another one of those hanging out and pretty much was it yeah we mean like four or four or five other friends with 100 nuggets were you able to finish them all no man that's a lot

02:12:58 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 4:

of nuggets you threw away nuggets yes you don't have to throw away you could keep them for a year

02:13:06 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 3:

out of the refrigerator and they still throw them in the air fryer they're great um quick question when you do 100 nuggets what's the reaction of them when you're ordering that are they shocked

02:13:16 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 5:

There are little shots that are telling me, are you kidding?

02:13:19 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 3:

Wow. And do you make sure that every, like, is every nugget of the hundred nuggets, do they taste good? Or does, like, a couple of the nuggets not get cooked properly?

02:13:30 - 02:13:33 | Speaker 5:

Towards the end, they start getting colder and colder and colder. Oh.

02:13:33 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right.

02:13:35 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 4:

There are good nuggies and bad nuggies. Everybody knows this. Some of the nuggies are a little slimy sometimes.

02:13:40 - 02:13:42 | Speaker 1:

Never order during peak ordering time.

02:13:42 - 02:13:51 | Speaker 3:

Alex, how old are you? or i'll be 28 call them nuggies until the until you're at least like 50 years old and then then

02:13:51 - 02:14:13 | Speaker 1:

after that point you can't call them nuggies anymore i like dino nuggets better yeah i love a good dino nuggy i got a whole pack of them in my fridge right now but can we talk about something let's talk about shrinkflation when it came to dino nuggies because those got super expensive in the bags yeah they're like 17 bucks a bag yeah wow you know i'm very passionate about i will say

02:14:13 - 02:14:35 | Speaker 3:

I will say this, Dino Nuggies, and then I used to love, what are the, well, I love waffle fries, so don't get me, and tater tots. You put tater tots on a menu all over tater tots. Sonic tater tots are the best. But my favorite was Smiley Fries from Buffalo Wild Wings. They used to have Smiley Fries, and they were, it was like a cushiony, like, potato. It was delicious.

02:14:35 - 02:14:40 | Speaker 1:

Smiley fries are the only bad fry. I don't know how you did it, but you picked the only bad one.

02:14:40 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 3:

Why would you say that to me? That hurts my feelings.

02:14:42 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 1:

They're only barely crispy on the outside, and the middle is sometimes lukewarm, and then they're, like, grainy. No.

02:14:49 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

I like it. The largest order that I had ever done in my life was a Taco Bell order for a night like Megan and Kevin have talked about, you know, partying a little too much.

02:15:00 - 02:15:29 | Speaker 5:

much um and the largest order that i had was 225 of taco bell which taco bell that's hard and this was by the way this is not like inflationary times this was like non-inflationary times and um it was i ordered so many tacos and so many bean burritos i by the way i lived off of bean burritos when i first got into radio and i wasn't making any money at all bean burritos were the savior for me i would just grab like a bean burrito and that would be my lunch every day So good.

02:15:29 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 4:

See, my thing, it wasn't nuggets. A group of friends and I, we used to get together every Sunday, and we call it session Sundays, where we would have a little green night, and everybody would pitch in. And we were starving this particular night, and we decided to go to White Castle. And we literally had like 100 burgers. And we didn't have like a throw-up bowl. So what we did was dump them all in the middle of the floor and literally say, on your mark, get set, go. And everybody just grab and eat as many as you can. Did you do the same thing with the bathroom?

02:15:58 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 5:

that was a night by the way if you're gonna order you cannot order that many sliders because you ordered that many slide the smell of those it was 49 say you couldn't beat it why is it why is it i i'm telling you i used to i couldn't believe how many i used to eat back in the day punish them

02:16:18 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 1:

can i tell you something i'm not proud of but also kind of proud of yes uh one time i was Very messed up, and I was eating my 100 chicken nuggets in my bed, and I fell asleep. And I woke up the next morning, and I had rolled over on a chicken nugget that was still warm from my body temperature, and I definitely ate it.

02:16:33 - 02:16:37 | Speaker 6:

Yes! Now that's breakfast.

02:16:37 - 02:16:40 | Speaker 1:

Breakfast in bed. I was like, mm, lukewarm.

02:16:43 - 02:16:49 | Speaker 2:

Catching cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. Get your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:16:49 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 5:

Amy, you think that your girlfriend is cheating on you? What's the reason?

02:16:56 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 7:

Well, you know, so we've been together for four years, and you know how you can just kind of tell when somebody's acting out of character?

02:17:04 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Matter of fact, that's so common with our War of the Roses. It's always usually somebody that's suddenly acting weird or being suspicious, you know?

02:17:15 - 02:17:16 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, I just have that feeling.

02:17:17 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 5:

All right. you guys have been in a relationship for some time now and when's the last time that you guys have been like intimate with each other?

02:17:28 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 7:

Um I guess it was like maybe a couple weeks ago that's kind of like another indication you know like when she gets cold it's sort of you know you know that something's going on that she's not talking to me about and, yeah, I just have a terrible feeling.

02:17:52 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 5:

We're going to call her up to see what's going on. War of the Roses here this morning. We're going to see where she's going to send a free dozen roses. Mute your phone. Please keep quiet while we're doing it. Don't unmute it until we call upon you, okay?

02:18:07 - 02:18:08 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

02:18:08 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 5:

All right, we're hoping that the flowers go to Amy. It's Mojo in the Morning.

So to Shay or?

02:19:43 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 6:

Like T-I-S-H-A-Y.

02:19:46 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 3:

Okay. And what is to Shay's phone number? 734. too okay and alicia just because i'm going to start a profile for you um so hopefully you'll order flowers from rosesbloom.com again it's going to make this process a whole lot faster because i'm going to save all of in this case to shay's information uh what is her relationship to you um she's a really close friend okay and we also we also offer something unique at rosesbloom.com And that's a digital voice card where you can leave your own message that will get played when the flowers get delivered. So this message will be texted to Tashay instead of a paper card, essentially. So I'm going to count you down, and then you could just say something short and sweet. And that's what she's going to get with the flowers. Okay. All right. Three, two, one.

02:20:50 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Tashay. This is Alisa. I hope these make you smile.

02:20:58 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Great. And Alicia, I also have to let you know that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that? Yeah, sure.

02:21:07 - 02:21:14 | Speaker 2:

Great. Hey, Alicia, I just want to do also wrap up the call here by telling you a couple last things.

02:21:16 - 02:21:16 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:21:16 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 2:

Number one, we will send those flowers out, but I do want to let you know one other thing. I want to let you know that while you have been on the phone with us that your girlfriend Amy has been listening in and just heard you send flowers to another woman

02:21:33 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 4:

great that's all you have to say

02:21:41 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

Alicia

02:21:45 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 5:

I mean

02:21:46 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 2:

Alicia Amy said that you've been acting differently and that's why she was suspecting that you possibly were cheating on her.

02:21:58 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 5:

Well, it can't be cheating because we broke up two weeks ago. So I don't understand why you care who I send flowers to. We're not together.

02:22:08 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 2:

Wait a second. You guys are not together?

02:22:11 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:22:14 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 2:

Amy, why did you tell us that you were together?

02:22:18 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 4:

I mean, we're not like technically together, but we do the whole break up, get back together thing all the time.

02:22:25 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 2:

So, wait a second. So, you actually had a breakup and then you said that you think that she's cheating on you, but if you're broken up, it's not cheating.

02:22:35 - 02:22:48 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it felt more like a fight than a breakup to me, but I guess it was a breakup. But we still have four years. It still feels

02:22:48 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 3:

really hurtful to send flowers to someone else. Immediately. Do you know who that person is?

02:22:56 - 02:23:22 | Speaker 2:

Amy, do you know who that is? I do. Is it some... I don't want to give out too much information because, to be honest with you, it's not something that, especially if you guys are broken up, it makes us feel weird that we're even checking out a relationship with you guys not even being together. I mean, am I wrong in saying that? They're no longer together. Why are we checking in on a relationship? True.

02:23:24 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 4:

Because I don't think it's the end.

02:23:26 - 02:23:34 | Speaker 1:

Why not? Why is Alicia so confident that it's over, but you're not? Where's the disconnect?

02:23:35 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 4:

Because this is how she is. We break up, and I see her on the dating apps, and I feel like she's looking for someone else, but she always comes back because she's not finding someone who has what we have. Like, I try to give her space, and then she always comes back.

02:23:56 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Alicia?

02:23:58 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:24:00 - 02:24:02 | Speaker 2:

Alicia, you guys normally get back together?

02:24:03 - 02:24:09 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it's exhausting. I just, I want it to be done. I can't do this anymore.

02:24:11 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 2:

Do you mind if we ask that question of who this other person is?

02:24:15 - 02:24:18 | Speaker 5:

You know what? It's none of anyone's business.

02:24:18 - 02:24:45 | Speaker 2:

okay then we won't ask that yeah um all right hold we're gonna let you go do you still want us to send the flowers yeah why not um all right hang on one second and we're gonna we're gonna do that and we'll talk more to Amy. This is the home of Warm the Roses.

02:24:46 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 3:

We love Mojo in the Morning.

02:24:48 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning.

02:25:00 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 8:

A couple minutes ago, Amy heard her girlfriend send flowers to another woman, but is it cheating? Because her girlfriend says they've been broken up for a couple of weeks now. Chris, hey, what's up? I'm sorry, Jordan first. Jordan, what's up?

02:25:22 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 4:

so it's definitely been longer than a couple of weeks because i have never heard somebody rattle off a number that fast and i've been with my wife for seven years and i still don't remember

02:25:35 - 02:25:42 | Speaker 8:

it yeah yeah and knew exactly who the uh she was gonna send it to me it's like oh it's going here

02:25:42 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 4:

it's like jeez that's definitely more than a couple weeks that's a couple years what do you

02:25:47 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 8:

think about uh about amy though uh do you think amy is delusional and thinking that they're still

02:25:53 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 4:

together i mean i don't know why she'd want to be with her because she she was really cold she just like i want out yeah like why would you want to be with something like that yeah and she doesn't

02:26:05 - 02:26:16 | Speaker 1:

want to be with you then and to bring your two points to bring your two points together jordan i wonder if she's been with her before when she said that they've broken up a couple of times i

02:26:16 - 02:26:46 | Speaker 6:

wonder if this is not a new person chris what's going on your thoughts hi guys love you good morning we love you too thank you um oh who kissed me i think my concern is i think she's a little delusional i do think she's delusional i think that the definition of insanity applies here doing something over and over again and expecting a different result it's not going to be it.

02:26:46 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

It's like you feel so bad for her because you know that she wants this relationship to work but at the same time she's almost doing it to herself at this point and that she keeps taking her back when Alicia comes crawling back. Because she knows what's going to happen.

02:27:02 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 6:

Right. And you know maybe Alicia's coming back just to bake those cookies. That could be it. It could be good cookies though.

02:27:09 - 02:27:11 | Speaker 8:

Shannon, what's up? Listener Shannon, hi.

02:27:12 - 02:27:48 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. Morning. Amy, girl, move on. Okay. It is somebody out there that will love you. The fact that you have all of America thinking you're going to get seated on and you're not even together. Come on, man. You are not desperate. I'm sure you're pretty, you're gorgeous, all of that. It is somebody out here that will want to stop being the Lulu and let that girl call you back. You bet not answer that phone, because if you answer the phone and you let old girl back, you're going to get it, and you're going to deserve it. So just move on. Don't be the Lulu. It's 2024.

02:27:49 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 8:

Shannon, let me talk to her. Let me see what's going on here. Amy, some listeners think that this has come across a little stalker-ish.

02:28:05 - 02:28:07 | Speaker 5:

Okay, well, they weren't in this relationship.

02:28:07 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 8:

So you don't think that it comes across a little crazy that you guys are broken up and you're still checking on her to see who she's with?

02:28:22 - 02:28:36 | Speaker 5:

Well, because I knew who this person was, this just kind of proves to me there was something going on behind the scenes that I wasn't aware of. And I guess this time, I guess this time we're not getting back together.

02:28:37 - 02:28:42 | Speaker 1:

Without giving too much information of the person, what's the relationship? How do you know this person?

02:28:45 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 5:

She's a friend of Alicia's. Who has been called just a friend. I've been assured multiple times that that was the case.

02:28:56 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 3:

I feel like you just wanted to do War of the Roses to, like, be certain. or figure out who she was seeing?

02:29:08 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 5:

I had a feeling.

02:29:11 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 3:

What I'm saying is, you know you were broken up. You were just curious who the other person was. And this was your way of finding out.

02:29:27 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I don't see it that way.

02:29:30 - 02:29:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:29:31 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 5:

I really, I don't know. I kind of hope she would have sent them to me.

02:29:35 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 1:

Is two weeks the longest that you've all been broken up before?

02:29:39 - 02:29:39 | Speaker 5:

No.

02:29:40 - 02:29:40 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:29:42 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 8:

All right. I'm going to get back to taking some of our listener calls, and you can take a listen and comment on them, okay? Okay. Whitney, what's up, Mojo and The Morning Show?

02:29:54 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 6:

I just think that me

02:30:00 - 02:30:47 | Speaker 5:

personally and sorry because i was a little emotional i understand amy i think people that are calling her delusional obviously have never been in a real relationship before and i hate to say it is a little toxic but a lot of times when you're in a long-term relationship because i just got out of a similar situation for five years it you kind of go through the breakup get back together breakup get back together and sometimes you don't really know when it's fully over when Your feelings are still in it. So I get where she kind of maybe this was, this had to be her closure. I hate to say it, baby, but you have to move on. This was probably your closure. But it is a toxic thing, but I understand why she did it. Sometimes you don't know when that door is completely shut. And it could be the other person's fault as well.

02:30:48 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 6:

In two weeks is not a very long time, you know, this go around.

02:30:52 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 5:

It's not.

02:30:52 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 6:

And if you got patterns.

02:30:54 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 5:

They were together for four years. That's a long time. That is. call her delusional i i think that's crazy yeah uh thank you for the call what's up uh naya

02:31:02 - 02:31:48 | Speaker 4:

i have to agree with the previous caller i think that she was mistaking the we break up and we make up all the time for her being in love with her i don't think she was in love with amy i think that she was literally coming back because it was convenient she was coming back because you were allowing her to babe you have to see more value in yourself you're still beautiful. And whoever, Tanisha, whatever her name was, she found ghetto. You found, no. No, no, no, no, no. You don't get involved in messy stuff, baby. You're too classy for that. Let her go and see value in yourself. Because I really genuinely, I believe, I agree with the previous caller that I think that she genuinely does love her. And she thought because she was always coming back, it was a cat and mouse kind of thing. Because she loves me, she's coming back. No. She's coming back because you're allowing her to. And after hearing

02:31:48 - 02:32:01 | Speaker 6:

the, you know, what amy just told us i feel for her a lot more and i i would think that maybe some of those earlier callers would too what's up jen good morning mojo how are you we're good jen were

02:32:01 - 02:32:46 | Speaker 3:

the roses what an awkward phone call right um i i don't think alicia's cheating but i also don't agree with what she's doing when amy said we've broken up before but she's always come back and she has seen her on dating websites it's like alicia's out there trying to find something better but keeping amy as her safety net alicia alicia she's clearly over this relationship but she needs to decide in or out you know that's not fair to do to amy and i hope i pray that amy listens to this phone call and she finds a little self-respect and doesn't let her come back because from what i heard it sounds like alicia's just using her until she finds something that she's

02:32:46 - 02:33:15 | Speaker 6:

are interested in well there's a lot of pain and there's definitely uh a lot of sadness there in the her voice and amy's voice and she's very hurt i will say this it's interesting when you have one of these relationships uh where it goes you know we're together we're not together we're together we're not together it's interesting how fast the one person in the relationship jumps back on a dating app i mean that is fast to go back up on a dating app i mean i think that after you break up It should be months before you even think of that.

02:33:15 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 1:

Why? I'm over here sitting on this question, but like, how long am I supposed to wait until I move on?

02:33:19 - 02:33:28 | Speaker 6:

Well, if you're quickly going to a dating app, that means that you've been out of this thing for a long, long time. And it could be that you've been on that dating app way before you even broke up.

02:33:28 - 02:33:39 | Speaker 1:

I don't think there's a broad brush to stroke here, though. I mean, maybe that's true for some people. I think there could be another possibility to where maybe some people are hurt and they're like, I just need to get over this and move on quickly. And that's the way that they deal with things.

02:33:39 - 02:34:00 | Speaker 6:

The whole, you know, slogan of the easiest way to get over her is to get under her is not the slogan that you should probably do in a relationship. So which one's DeLulu in this situation? Right, exactly. I know that's a new word. I'm going to use that today. I loved it. That was good. One last call. Blake, you were in an on-again, off-again, hot-and-cold relationship like this.

02:34:02 - 02:34:26 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I was, and it was going on for almost five years. My thing about it is I heard another caller say it was convenient. I wouldn't call it convenience, but what's familiar. You know, sometimes you're afraid to start over, afraid of if the next person is going to be worse or better. So you go back to what's familiar because, yeah, you have those good times. But, I mean, do they really outweigh the bad times?

02:34:26 - 02:34:30 | Speaker 6:

Question for you. When you would break up, how quick would you go out and start dating again?

02:34:32 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 2:

We didn't up until the last time. The last time she got with somebody, and that was for me to say, you know what, I don't need that, you know?

02:34:44 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 6:

So once you saw that, you were like, okay, this is no longer. So she's obviously moved on.

02:34:49 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and let me tell you, now that I am with somebody else, I've found out that the grass is definitely greener on the other side.

02:34:57 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 6:

Good, that's great. That's good to hear. Hopefully the same thing for Amy.

02:35:00 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 4:

me too uh where are the roses if you think that you're being cheated on text cheater to 95500 and like i said earlier this morning there's a lot of times where we have heterosexual cheaters i tell you what we would love to catch more people in gay relationships cheating but they just don't text us i don't know what the heck's going on maybe it's that you don't want to put your business out there on the radio or something um but please text cheater to 95500 and tell us your

02:35:29 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 1:

situation this is the home of the dirty on the 30 throwback throwdown second date update and war of the roses this is mojo in the morning back to mojo in the morning in the morning phone number

02:35:42 - 02:35:57 | Speaker 4:

is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh texas 95500 so if you have children listening can they uh can they listen to this this is okay all right i wait where yeah shannon how about this the title

02:35:57 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 2:

is shannon and the sexy pics at work yeah i don't know if you're one of those who send or receive sexy photos or sexts let's say while you're working but i was on the receiving end and megan mick was right next to me as it happened which made it even better so my fiance west i don't know what the heck he did he did something to his back and he's been in a lot of pain and so on friday um he went to this place to get like some some pt and they decided that they were going to put him in an ice bath which is something that he does from time to time anyway so he strips down to his boxer briefs to get it before he gets into this ice bath and decides to take like you know a photo from up here of of his of him his body like naked naked naked uh he had on like little itty bitty very tight because you could see it all boxer braves and a beanie and a beanie

02:37:01 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 4:

that's right that's right because you saw it wait a second how how long did you glance at that to

02:37:06 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 2:

notice that excited pre-stepping into the cold bath if you catch my drift kids are listening

02:37:13 - 02:37:29 | Speaker 4:

Did she, hold on a second. First off, by the way, I would have already been shrunk at that point knowing I'm going into a cold bath. That's amazing. Pre-shrinking. He must be a large man there if that's the case. But Megan, did she give you forewarning of this and show it to you?

02:37:29 - 02:37:57 | Speaker 2:

No, I was showing her something else on my computer. And then all of a sudden, so I have my text on my computer so that when I get text during the show, I'm not constantly picking up my phone. They just show up on my computer. so I'm showing Megan something else and then that photo comes up and I was like oh well that's Wes saying good morning and then I like couldn't concentrate for the rest of the show one and two I was like and Megan just I need some of your balls at all wow that's yeah Wes thank you

02:37:57 - 02:38:02 | Speaker 3:

uh because it's been a long time since I've received one of those and I felt like I also

02:38:02 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 4:

received it I felt like it was for both of us yeah I'm a ball grabber wow that's amazing so

02:38:07 - 02:38:16 | Speaker 2:

so uh well while you guys are just sitting there you can't send that crap to me during the show

02:38:16 - 02:38:32 | Speaker 4:

because it throws me off why do you not uh you have this on your laptop yeah oh my you why do you have it why do you have your text messages going to your laptop so i'm not constantly in my phone i know but maybe that's the problem you can't do that you'll be you're too then i would

02:38:32 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 2:

hear my phone buzz and i would go pick up my you know but donnie what are your thoughts on first

02:38:37 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 4:

off uh megan describe it let's if you had to do a if you had the cops uh telling you okay who is the criminal it's the guy in the beanie describe everything what did he look like white man average

02:38:50 - 02:39:02 | Speaker 3:

stature uh oh that was nice you're welcome uh nobody wants to be average he's so nice like he He drives me places when I drink, so I can't be too mean.

02:39:03 - 02:39:04 | Speaker 4:

He's our destination.

02:39:04 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 3:

Shannon said it, not me. He had a sultry look on his face, and I don't think I noticed anything else other than the bulge. Salt and pepper hair. No, no, no.

02:39:14 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 4:

No, Donnie, she did notice something else. What did she notice, Donnie?

02:39:18 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 3:

I'm just saying, first of all, good morning. Good morning. Good morning. I'm just saying, at least Megan noticed the beanie. That's the only thing she mentioned and nothing else. That's good.

02:39:29 - 02:39:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:39:29 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's all I saw. That's up there.

02:39:31 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 4:

That's up top. Yeah.

02:39:33 - 02:39:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:39:34 - 02:39:39 | Speaker 4:

By the way, what do you think, Donnie, about the fact that they send naughty photos to each other?

02:39:39 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, not they. He. He sent them. I have never, there is nowhere in this building that I would want to take a sexy photo. We should make Shannon turn it today.

02:39:48 - 02:39:50 | Speaker 4:

No. Yeah. This is, by the way.

02:39:50 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 2:

In our dirty ass bathroom.

02:39:52 - 02:39:57 | Speaker 4:

No, no, you got to get, but let's get an ice bath too. So that she has to step into an ice bath.

02:39:57 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 2:

No, we've got Planet Fitness downstairs.

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 4:

Take a gym selfie. There you go.

02:40:03 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 3:

Are there any other listeners of ours that do this, that send naughty pics at work? And where do you go? Yeah, where's the...

02:40:10 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 6:

That you're not getting caught.

02:40:11 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 3:

Where's the place that is the appropriate to do this?

02:40:15 - 02:40:23 | Speaker 6:

Or that there's not a toilet in the background. I love when I see people send sexy pics, and I'm like, all I can focus on is the toilet. It's bathroom selfies.

02:40:23 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 3:

When people do bathroom selfies, I always think to myself, that's like a gross place. like unless you got like some gorgeous like powder room bathroom like nice place you know but if you're in a bathroom if you're in your bathroom like i know your toilet is right there

02:40:40 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 7:

behind you my favorite is when dudes don't smile in it either so it's just like that's what you

02:40:44 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 6:

that's what you dookie and you're not even like clean the toothpaste off your mirror buy some glass cleaner at target yeah method brand's a great one and just wipe it down

02:40:55 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 4:

You know, the bathroom can work in your favor, though, because that sink, if you're a girl, you can put your butt over the sink and it makes it look kind of bigger. Oh, my God. You sit on the counter. Not me. You know, if you need friends, you don't need help. Wait a second.

02:41:07 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 3:

What is the girl trying to get look bigger?

02:41:09 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 4:

Your butt. Your butt.

02:41:10 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, your butt. If you're sitting on the sink. I thought you always want, I always thought you want everything to look smaller when you're in a picture. Maybe it's because I'm a fat person.

02:41:17 - 02:41:20 | Speaker 7:

I was just about to say, my butt would have more cellulite if I did that. No, thank you.

02:41:20 - 02:41:27 | Speaker 3:

Um, texter says, uh, Shannon, just like for your phone, you need to get a privacy screen for your computer. So you need to have like one of those.

02:41:27 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 6:

Well, it wasn't even that. I mean, I truly had my computer turned toward Megan because I was showing her something.

02:41:32 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 3:

Amanda, what's up?

02:41:33 - 02:41:33 | Speaker 6:

Not a terrible idea.

02:41:34 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey.

02:41:34 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Amanda.

02:41:36 - 02:41:39 | Speaker 5:

I take mine in the bathroom, but you just have to angle it so that you can't see the toilet.

02:41:40 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 3:

Okay. You don't do these and send these while you're at work, do you? Or while you're at work, are you getting these?

02:41:47 - 02:41:49 | Unknown:

Uh, yeah. Of course.

02:41:49 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 3:

Are you? you are a you're a dirty girl where's the drop you're a dirty girl aren't you worried that

02:41:55 - 02:42:06 | Speaker 5:

somebody's gonna walk into the bathroom no no it's a single stall so well i guess if there if we don't lock the bathroom door you have to try to like stay in the bathroom door and take

02:42:06 - 02:42:11 | Speaker 3:

the picture the funny thing is these girls all ran in the studio last week one day and go

02:42:11 - 02:42:20 | Speaker 6:

somebody just left an explosion it was disgusting it was poop and pee mixture that nobody flushed It's raining from the ceilings.

02:42:20 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, who wants that in your pictures? Or who wants to have to sit there and be checking that out? Hold on, I've got to fire up the voice disguiser machine for Tanya. Tanya is an alias. What's going on, Tanya? Good morning. Good morning. Voice disguised here right now. We're talking about sending pics while you're at work.

02:42:40 - 02:43:05 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I have a doctor at work. We flirt back and forth. And sometimes in the morning while I'm getting ready in the locker room, I'll send a picture and I know I'll wait till I get like with him and I'll send it. And then when he sees it, he'll look at me and, you know, eyes wide, smile. And it's something we do back and forth while we're at work. Wait a second. Are you guys supposed to be doing that?

02:43:05 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 3:

You said he's a doctor. Is that what you said?

02:43:08 - 02:43:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:43:09 - 02:43:10 | Speaker 3:

And what do you do?

02:43:11 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to say my position. We just work at a hospital.

02:43:14 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 3:

So, you work for the doctor?

02:43:17 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, with the doctor.

02:43:19 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 3:

With the doctor. Is this in a hospital you're doing this? Because I'm going to tell you, I've been in the hospital for heart issues. The last thing in the world I want is my doctor getting excited when he's taking my pulse, you know?

02:43:32 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it happens.

02:43:35 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 3:

Wow. That's why I've been waiting so long. I often wondered if, you know, they talk about doctors and nurses, and then they talk about pilots and flight attendants.

02:43:44 - 02:43:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah.

02:43:44 - 02:43:48 | Speaker 3:

Do you think the pilots and the flight attendants send each other naughties during the flight?

02:43:48 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 6:

Probably. Oh, please call in. Oh, my gosh. I admit it.

02:43:51 - 02:43:59 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy. Well, Tanya, listen, Shannon just got breaking news from Wes sent to us here.

02:44:00 - 02:44:06 | Speaker 1:

See, you could have been looking at the crap the other morning shows are talking about. But you heard that on Mojo in the Morning. Happy.

02:44:07 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 3:

Megan, parents reading texts.

02:44:11 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, this is happening actually to a friend of mine and her relationship, which I think is actually insane.

02:44:17 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 3:

How old's your friend?

02:44:18 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 7:

My age, she's like a few years younger than me.

02:44:21 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 3:

Really? Yeah. So 20-ish years old and her parents read her texts?

02:44:25 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 7:

No, no, no. Her boyfriend's mom is reading the texts that she's having with her boyfriend. Oh. Yeah. Great question. Phenomenal question. A question that I could not stop asking throughout the night as she's telling me this story. so she's over at her and i want to say mother-in-law she's not married to this guy it's her boyfriend but it's just going to make the easier the story easier to tell nailed it um but she was over at her like mother-in-law's house and they were sitting talking her mother-in-law kept dropping these like weird references in the conversation stuff about weed stuff about and at First, it could come off as like maybe just.

02:45:00 - 02:45:41 | Speaker 3:

asking questions or maybe just trying to learn more about it but then she's like these are very specific questions this is weird and it's parts of conversations that she has had with her boyfriend via text so it's becoming more and more clear to her that his mother has been reading their text messages did she call it out to him um no because she's kind of stuck in this weird place of like do i start a fight over this what like it's the holidays which is always super unfortunate like i think she'll bring it up after the new year's but it's very very weird that her grown ass boyfriend is having his text messages read by that's crazy whether he knows it or not that's

02:45:41 - 02:45:55 | Speaker 4:

what i was gonna say is he does he have a rule that he has to plug his phone in the kitchen and can't bring technology to the bedroom like i have for my kids like what is it that is making how is she how does she have access to his phone he lives on his own so i'm guessing they're on like

02:45:55 - 02:45:59 | Speaker 3:

an account together or something maybe there's an ipad around there somewhere logged in that's

02:45:59 - 02:46:07 | Speaker 6:

weird or i have to tell you this from a dad of sons and sons that share a lot with their mom

02:46:07 - 02:46:23 | Speaker 3:

you think he's sharing these text messages i wonder i wonder that's what i wonder even that okay so maybe it's not the text maybe it's just the stuff she's referencing the text i didn't even think of it that way i was like they've got an ipad somewhere who is a grown-ass person whose

02:46:23 - 02:46:49 | Speaker 6:

parents still read their text messages that's crazy but also why are you telling your mom everything yeah or you know who's dating who's dating somebody that's uh that's doing that 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the uh telephone number and um god i don't know if mom should be reading all the text messages between the two i wouldn't want to did she ever send anything that

02:46:49 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 3:

might be of course she does really oh mama just seen the tops yeah but i think that's well now the only good part of this conversation is you guys are like well maybe he's just been telling his mom and i think now i'm like i hope that's the case for her because that's the first thing i thought was that's worse how many times have you sent inappropriate things to him that she's

02:47:06 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 5:

now seen yeah that's worse to me if he running back and telling mommy all the things they talk about their mom just you know getting in his phone yeah that's weaker behavior does she like this guy

02:47:15 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 6:

enough to deal with mom because she's going to be with them in their relationship all the time?

02:47:21 - 02:47:27 | Speaker 3:

I've dated a mama's boy before. It's the worst thing imaginable. Really? It truly is the worst.

02:47:27 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 5:

Can y'all tell me what that means? Kevin's a mama's boy. That's why I'm asking because I have a great relationship with my mom but I don't consider myself a mama's boy.

02:47:35 - 02:47:39 | Speaker 3:

Shut up. Do you let your mom meddle? Yes. Do you let your mom

02:47:39 - 02:47:45 | Speaker 5:

meddle? When you say let because I can tell my mom all the time stop this, stop that

02:47:45 - 02:48:04 | Speaker 4:

okay so you have a backbone so no you the answer is you don't if your mom tried to meddle in your personal life you would stop her that's the difference you can be a mama's boy and love your mom and have a great relationship with your mom but if you don't have a boundary and if you guys are codependent on each other that that's the unhealthy mama's boy i'm not fighting with

02:48:04 - 02:48:10 | Speaker 3:

your mother in our relationship because her and i don't see eye to eye on something and you don't

02:48:10 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 4:

stand up to her and by the way your friend needs to absolutely not wait until after the holiday to have this conversation with her boyfriend no way hey what's up carlos hey guys you know

02:48:21 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 2:

we was discussing earlier about we need to communicate more the girlfriend can't just assume what's going on uh son could be visiting mom once a week and set his phone down going to the bathroom mom could be sneaking in the phone we don't know but we can't assume there's all

02:48:38 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 6:

kinds of things i i would bet that it's not mom's reading his text messages i think he's sharing

02:48:43 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 2:

these text messages but that's another assumption though that's another assumption i get it so she

02:48:49 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 6:

needs to you think that she needs to say something to him like why is it why is it that your mom

02:48:53 - 02:49:08 | Speaker 3:

coincidentally is bringing this up she absolutely wants to she should it's the holidays guys i don't care we have these conversations don't care i don't care no because if this gets ruined then mom has more fuel as to why she's the bad guy she ruined the holidays yeah so she's just like

02:49:08 - 02:49:20 | Speaker 4:

we'll address this in a few but the conversation doesn't have to be with his mom it needs to be with him and it can just be as simple as it's making me uncomfortable that your mom knows all this. Jennifer. Yes.

02:49:20 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 6:

What do you want to say?

02:49:23 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 1:

My soon to be husband is a mama's boy. So bad. Like he works downtown so on his way home he has to stop at his mother's house every single day. He never comes home first. He stops there. He eats dinner and then he acts like he's hungry when he gets home and then he doesn't eat.

02:49:46 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 6:

Wait, so your husband is such a mama's boy. He stops off at his mom's house. She feeds his belly and then he comes home and fakes it that he doesn't didn't eat anything over at mom's house? You can't cook. Yeah. Are you not a good cook?

02:50:00 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm a very good cook.

02:50:02 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 3:

Let's ask him. Yeah, nah, bruh. You're not making what he like. Do you think mom knows all the details about your relationship? Because I guarantee you, if she's feeding him, she's talking about you. And she's probably saying.

02:50:15 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 1:

They do. I've read messages between them two.

02:50:18 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 3:

What does she say about you?

02:50:20 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 1:

We argued one time, and this was like just maybe a few weeks ago. She had texted him and said, you know, what's going on, son? And he's like, nothing, mom, just having a bad day. And she was like, you know, you could do bad all by yourself and get you an apartment. What did he say back? He was like, no, mom, I'm doing, I'm fine. It'll be okay.

02:50:47 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 2:

That was it. Is this like a potential deal breaker for you?

02:50:52 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 1:

No, I love this man. Like, we've been together for maybe almost six years now. and she's a great guy.

02:51:02 - 02:51:06 | Speaker 2:

Well, look, I got some advice for you. Take the raisins out the potato salad and season the chicken.

02:51:07 - 02:51:08 | Unknown:

Everything will be good.

02:51:09 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 2:

You did not just cut her off.

02:51:11 - 02:51:11 | Speaker 1:

She was so bad.

02:51:12 - 02:51:13 | Unknown:

You hung up on her.

02:51:13 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 1:

Girl, we know you don't put raisins in the potato salad. We know. Like it.

02:51:23 - 02:51:36 | Speaker 1:

I really can't stay. But baby, it's cold outside. I've got to go away. Baby, it's cold outside. This evening has been hoping that you'd drop the arm. Quick question. I'll hold your hands.

02:51:37 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 3:

Is it okay to just start your car if you don't have a car starter and leave the keys in it? Do thieves work in cold weather like this?

02:51:49 - 02:51:54 | Speaker 4:

Dude, just take my car. I just want it to be warm. Brian Moran, you didn't hear me say that.

02:51:54 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 3:

i mean here's the thing i mean quite honest with you i know it's the hassles of trying to figure out what you would do but for goodness sakes i don't tell anybody right to say they got robbed because i think that the the insurance companies uh if they find out that you left your keys in the car or something like that they may not cover the theft but it's so cold outside i don't know how you you guys feel about this but it's so cold outside that i don't care if they take my car As a matter of fact, it just gives me a reason to stay inside.

02:52:25 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 4:

There should be like a gentleman's agreement to boosting cars under a certain temperature.

02:52:31 - 02:52:34 | Speaker 1:

We all agree you can go through, steal the change, but don't take the car.

02:52:35 - 02:52:38 | Speaker 3:

Did you guys look at that Metro Detroit News Instagram?

02:52:38 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's the best one.

02:52:40 - 02:52:47 | Speaker 3:

Did you see the one yesterday that they posted of the, there was a guy riding on the hood? Yes, on the freeway.

02:52:47 - 02:52:48 | Speaker 4:

On the leads.

02:52:49 - 02:53:15 | Speaker 3:

That's his girl, right? Like that's his girlfriend or his wife or something. She raised some text message. I'm looking at this thing going, this guy's unbelievable. He's like riding on the hood of the car. And I'm thinking, I don't even know these people that, you know, have a window that won't roll up. And they're having to drive with a, I saw a guy with a window that didn't go up. And I'm like, that poor bastard's got to go to, I don't know, what's a window company? What's the one that, when you break your glass?

02:53:15 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 4:

Safe flight. Safe flight. Safe flight. Safe flight. Also, I heard one of the weather guys say this morning that you're going to get frostbite if you're outside and skin is exposed for 20 minutes right now. So think about that, dude.

02:53:31 - 02:53:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:53:32 - 02:53:33 | Speaker 4:

Outside on a car.

02:53:33 - 02:53:50 | Speaker 3:

By the way, no longer called the lodge. It's the luge because if you're driving down it at a time like now, you're going to be sliding and hitting those walls back and forth. Oh, my God. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. for a channon you were talking about how you feel bad for your mail lady my mail lady amber

02:53:50 - 02:54:28 | Speaker 4:

is her name shout out to her she i was watching her yesterday and i thought god first off it is so dang cold outside and she had like my neighborhood she walks door to door because all of our mailboxes are like up on our porch you know and half of my neighborhood it looks like didn't shovel their walkway um and then like even my walkway which was shoveled but there's so much ice and dad if you are listening yes i actually salted this year um but it doesn't do anything when it's this cold the salt does not melt the ice and i thought that is one of the worst jobs

02:54:28 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 3:

to have when it is this cold outside there are no way by the way if i'm a male uh male lady male main male lady i if you're if you're a person and you got to work in a neighborhood like yours

02:54:41 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 4:

oh hell no oh hell no i mean honestly i can do without my mail for a couple of days right i that is okay don't deliver my mail your person has to walk she has to walk oh so she parks her van she has a van she parks her van and she usually parks it i have like a parking pad outside my house she usually will park it there and she'll

02:55:00 - 02:55:06 | Speaker 2:

cover my street and, you know, the corner and then get back in and move it. But still, you're hitting 20 houses.

02:55:07 - 02:55:22 | Speaker 4:

Why have those neighborhoods not gotten to the early 2000s and gotten a mailbox that's out, like, I don't know, right in front of homes or, like, community mailboxes like apartment complexes have?

02:55:22 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm kind of surprised that's not, like, a requirement.

02:55:25 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I mean, I feel like every neighborhood in Detroit is like that, too.

02:55:29 - 02:55:32 | Speaker 3:

There are no curbside mailboxes.

02:55:33 - 02:55:41 | Speaker 4:

844 Megan Live. 844 Mojo Live. You've got to pay a subscription for that website.

02:55:44 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 5:

But also, yeah, I need that money.

02:55:47 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 4:

Do you have your keys in it or anything? No, Mike. It's the greatest. What? I can lock my doors from the damn app. It's amazing. That's ridiculous. That's a game changer. That's a game changer.

02:56:48 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 3:

It's so cool. When we left the studio yesterday, I walked out with Lydia. And as we're walking out, I look to my left and I see Lydia's car running. and she looks so happy to get inside of her car meanwhile there's snow in my windshield and my car is not running because i don't have a remote

02:57:04 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 4:

does she do what i do if that happens where you just sit there and you feel like you can't get in your car and just go away like you can't do the all right cab i'll see you tomorrow jump in your warm car and then leave you almost have to stand there not really to help you no but but just to you know feel your pain a little bit a sympathy pause yeah like a support i drove off so fast

02:57:28 - 02:57:32 | Speaker 3:

i didn't even let my car warm up let's just get the hell out of here bro you're you're the guy

02:57:32 - 02:57:37 | Speaker 4:

that just drives off and the snow just like flies off on and hits you i'm so blessed to be to have

02:57:37 - 02:57:43 | Speaker 3:

a garage these days oh my god it's the great i know it's the greatest it's the greatest feeling

02:57:43 - 02:57:47 | Speaker 2:

in the world i have a garage and i don't park in it because it's full of crap i should probably

02:57:47 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 3:

do something about that was my one goal when we moved in this new place we put all this stuff in the garage and i said before the snow hits i'm making myself a space to park and luckily i did

02:57:58 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 5:

this is the worst part i have a car starter and no garage but i can't use my car starter because my car is so far away from my apartment oh that's right by the time i get to my car it's freezing

02:58:08 - 02:58:32 | Speaker 2:

and i have a car starter i left my car running yesterday when i ran into the ups store over here on 12 mile to drop off my return i just didn't care i literally didn't care now mind you i have my key with me when i do that so my car is still locked but i do think it is highly illegal to do that how does it still work in a public parking lot haven't you guys ever gone to the car wash

02:58:32 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 4:

in at jacks they drive it through and then they have to come and get you because you're you didn't leave your key in the car and your car like stops did you know that it will do that if somebody tries to steal your car if your key fob isn't in there it will just stop the car wow whoa yeah it won't allow it to get to continue to go but do you know if it slowly decreases or does it just like i think i think once you change the gear or something it won't work it that's kind of how you see the car driving down the road it just slows down uh david's doing a cold weather job David, what do you do, buddy? I do trash service.

02:59:13 - 02:59:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Do you have to get out of the car?

02:59:16 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 1:

And I have my... I do have to get out. I have my son with me right now. He rides on the back of the truck. Oh, man.

02:59:27 - 02:59:29 | Speaker 4:

You made your son come work with you?

02:59:31 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, because I do a busy town. Yeah, so he rides on the back of the truck. He wears a face mask and everything.

02:59:39 - 02:59:45 | Speaker 4:

You know what? put the sun on there who cares he's young he'll if he falls he'll uh i don't know grow another arm

02:59:45 - 02:59:50 | Speaker 1:

yeah i told him he doesn't have to ride on the back of the cup being this cold but

02:59:50 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 4:

yeah he wants to that's crazy well thanks for doing what you do buddy appreciate you picking up that uh trash uh what's up uh gail how you doing gail it's

03:00:00 - 03:00:23 | Speaker 2:

on the morning and guys i hope you're staying warm yeah our company we uh we jet pipes and when it's freezing like this and they're frozen pipes it makes it 10 times worse and we we jet and clear frozen pipes at this time of year and we spent i don't know eight hours yesterday at a couple of different sites and all of us all work outside and it's cold man oh man i bet you you guys got

03:00:23 - 03:00:28 | Speaker 8:

a lot of business though with all those frozen pipes this time of year yeah business picked up

03:00:28 - 03:00:33 | Speaker 2:

Because we were slow for a moment, and then all of a sudden the freeze happens, and here we are. We're all right.

03:00:33 - 03:00:40 | Speaker 8:

I can't figure out, by the way, if you should let it do a drip. Like, you know, they used to tell you to do, like, a slow drip on the thing.

03:00:40 - 03:00:43 | Speaker 2:

Always do a slow drip in your bathtub. It helps circulate the water.

03:00:43 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 8:

Okay. Thanks for that, Gail. Talk to you.

03:00:47 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 4:

Like, leave it running. Leave it running. Leave it running a little bit.

03:00:49 - 03:00:52 | Speaker 8:

Like, a drip in the water so that there's water moving through it.

03:00:52 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 4:

So you think I'm rich with that water, Bill?

03:00:54 - 03:01:00 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. This is very informative. It's better than the bill from the pipe breaking. Ray, what's up, Ray?

03:01:01 - 03:01:02 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning.

03:01:02 - 03:01:03 | Speaker 8:

Morning.

03:01:03 - 03:01:31 | Speaker 3:

I was just calling in. I was listening about if you leave your key fob, if you don't have your key fobs in the car. Yeah. They said that it will just die after a certain amount of time. Well, my mom has a Juic Regal, and I was borrowing her car. I let my fiance drive it to take my daughter this year, and she called me because she didn't have the key fob, but the car was still running. She was afraid to shut the car off. So the car ran until she shut it off. Then it wouldn't start after that.

03:01:32 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

03:01:34 - 03:01:37 | Speaker 4:

So you can, like, get far away, but then you got to leave it behind.

03:01:39 - 03:01:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hers ran until it shut off.

03:01:42 - 03:01:45 | Speaker 8:

My mom, Shannon, also has a Buick, too. I drive a Buick on thing.

03:01:46 - 03:01:46 | Speaker 7:

Very proudly.

03:01:48 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 8:

Actually, Shannon, don't worry about it.

03:01:49 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 7:

Buicks are cool now, you guys. I tell you, I went in. Okay, stop trolling me.

03:01:54 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 8:

My buddy Luke, my 25-year-old buddy Luke just bought a Buick, and honestly, it's a cool car until I found out that it was a Buick.

03:02:00 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 7:

It's my favorite car. Nobody steals Buicks. He actually was driving. I have massager seats in my Buick. He came up to my- I'm telling you, this thing is beautiful.

03:02:09 - 03:02:16 | Speaker 8:

My buddy came up to my house, and I'm like, that is the coolest car ever. I thought it was like a Mercedes or something, and I go, what is it? And he goes, Buick, and I go, oh.

03:02:16 - 03:02:18 | Speaker 7:

No shame. No shame.

03:02:18 - 03:02:25 | Speaker 9:

I was testing. I got a story about this later, but I was test driving cars the other day, and the Buick, I didn't realize it was a Buick either, because they changed, did they change the logo or something?

03:02:25 - 03:02:26 | Speaker 7:

A little bit, yeah.

Yeah, so I test drove a Buick Enclave, and you're not wrong. That's what I drive. They're not bad.

03:02:31 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 7:

They're not bad.

03:02:33 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 8:

That Invista call, too, looked like a little Lamborghini. Yeah. A little Lambo truck. That car, by the way, also, the Buick Enclave can also give you an HJ, Mike. Whoa. That's amazing.

03:02:42 - 03:02:46 | Speaker 9:

Can I tell you my dumbest moment?

03:02:47 - 03:02:58 | Speaker 4:

Buicks are not a very popular car in Northwest Ohio, and when I saw a Buick for the first time in the Detroit area, I thought it was like a Lamborghini or a Lamborghini, right? I was like, ooh, fancy car. Fancy.

03:02:59 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 9:

It was a loco or something. It was that one.

03:03:01 - 03:03:05 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I straight up was like, that's got to be like a half a million dollar car.

03:03:06 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 8:

Hold on. Hold on. Shannon's garbage man, Dank, is on with us right now.

03:03:10 - 03:03:12 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I have a question for him. Good.

03:03:12 - 03:03:13 | Speaker 8:

What's up, Dank? What's up?

03:03:14 - 03:03:18 | Speaker 7:

Dank, are you guys, it's not today for pickup because of MLK Day. It's tomorrow, right?

03:03:19 - 03:03:19 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's today.

03:03:20 - 03:03:25 | Speaker 7:

Oh! Dank. Dang it. I didn't put my garbage in. That's okay.

03:03:25 - 03:03:42 | Speaker 8:

This is no different than any other day, Dang. She never brings the garbage cans out. She's got her mail-in. I thought it was pushed up. All the garbage people going up to the door. She's like, I feel so bad for them, but also, can you go grab my dumpster? Dang, stay warm out there, okay, buddy?

03:03:43 - 03:03:45 | Speaker 3:

Well, you guys have a good day, man. Thank you.

03:03:46 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 1:
