I'm Mange Shatigular and I'm back with a new season of my podcast, Skyline Drive. This time I talk to scientists, biopunks, curmudgeons, blues owners, super seniors, and Goa's top cryotherapy lab to try to understand this obsession with living forever and what it means for all of us. And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.

00:00:34 - 00:00:39 | Speaker 2:

I'd say probably start bone smashing. That doesn't work. Make it look more defined. They say it works. I don't know.

00:00:40 - 00:00:46 | Speaker 4:

Listen to Skyline Drive, How to Live Forever on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:00:47 - 00:01:16 | Speaker 5:

This is Michael Rappaport, and my podcast, the I Am Rappaport Stereo Podcast, is unlike any one you've ever heard. If you're looking for strong opinions about sports, entertainment, politics, pop culture, and whatever else catches my attention, then subscribe now. This kid Jafar Jackson should absolutely, positively get nominated for his portrayal as Michael Jackson. Listen to I Am Rap Report on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:01:17 - 00:01:32 | Speaker 3:

Here's something that should not be as complicated as it is. Getting a racist statue removed. And here's something that should be a whole lot easier than it is. getting a new one put up in its place. I'm Akilah Hughes, and Rebel Spirit Season 2 is about both of those things.

00:01:32 - 00:01:40 | Speaker 1:

As I was watching these statues come down, I was thinking about what it meant that I grew up in a majority Black city, in which there were more homages to enslavers than there were to enslaved people.

00:01:40 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 3:

Listen to Rebel Spirit Season 2 on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

00:01:55 - 00:02:00 | Speaker 5:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo.

00:02:01 - 00:02:13 | Speaker 6:

Mojo. This show's up. And the Rockets red glare. You're not being logical is what I'm saying. This is like an orgasm and a cop.

00:02:19 - 00:02:55 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:02:55 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo in the morning, so this might be the lamest blow-off excuse ever.

00:03:13 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

And, Spike, it happened to you? Yeah, I didn't get to see everybody I wanted on the East Coast during my vacation holiday. Doo-doo. You know, mostly because of COVID. Doo-doo. Megan giggles right away. but my cousin didn't even try and make up a good excuse for blowing me up she's like i oh i really want to come over tonight i really want to see you but i have cole's cash that i have to spend and i laughed i thought that was fun as a good one-liner and then i realized she was serious she's like no i gotta go today it's the last day and you use it or lose it i haven't seen my cousin in three years and she seriously was not going to come over because she had Kohl's cash that expired that day

00:03:59 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 3:

I think you underestimate how expensive women's clothing is

00:04:03 - 00:04:54 | Speaker 6:

but it was like that's the reason though? she couldn't go there and then run over? it's $30 in free money I said first of all you're going to go to spend your $30 and you're going to spend $200 so it's not even free money because they're just getting you to come back to spend more Second of all, I'll pay you $30 to come spend the night here and let's have some drinks. I haven't seen you in so long. Or you could have gone to Kohl's with her and you could have gone shopping. Last thing I was doing the day after Christmas was going to the mall. I drive all the way to Philadelphia to go to Kohl's. That just really tells me she did not care to see you at all. Care about me. No. I was like, man, I'm making such an effort to see people and reconnect during a time where we all need interaction after being isolated for two years all right all right so so what's the

00:04:54 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

so what is the excuse that was used to get out of having to

00:05:00 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 1:

to either you to see somebody else or them to see you.

00:05:03 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 3:

Anybody give you a blow-off excuse lamer than that?

00:05:06 - 00:05:14 | Speaker 1:

Mike get an mm, which means we probably have used that excuse before on him. Mike, has anybody used a lame excuse to get out of seeing you?

00:05:14 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 2:

Every single one of you, I'm sure, at some point has used one.

00:05:20 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 3:

Well, here's the best part. Then she tries to double up at the end and go, well, also we probably shouldn't all get together because of the virus. And I go, wait a minute. And that's already out the window because you said you're going to Kohl's. So don't throw me with the social distance crap now and say we shouldn't be in a room together because you're about to go stand in line with your Kohl's cat.

00:05:38 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 1:

Mike, I truly was getting my hair done that one time that you wanted to. I'm sorry.

00:05:42 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 2:

Actually, you're the only one. You're the only one. I remember this is one specifically. My son was born. Everybody's in town. Every single one of you are in a town. And Mojo, you were the only one that came over.

00:05:52 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

Yes.

00:05:53 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 2:

I was not in town. Thank you very much.

00:05:55 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

I was thinking as a parent, the last thing she wants is a house full of people. And the days after you just have a baby, you need to bond with that baby.

00:06:04 - 00:06:12 | Speaker 1:

Spike was at Kohl's to see how good their men's selection was. I was getting onesies.

00:06:12 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 3:

No, they had onesies. Right.

00:06:16 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

844MojoLive or text 95500 if you got a good one for us, a good excuse that somebody used. Can I tell you something, and I'm a little upset. I'm going to do a little behind-scenes radio thing, another one here. Ellen, I can't believe you didn't do this topic because I saw it. So every night we always send topics to each other. And the topics come in, and I read everybody's ideas for, you know, things to bring up that are going on in their life. And I read this first one on Spikes. Mojo was right.

00:06:46 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:06:47 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 1:

That's all I'm going to say.

00:06:49 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 3:

I did schedule it. We postpone until tomorrow because he has to gather some more information.

00:06:53 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 1:

Wait, wait, wait. Oh, really?

00:06:54 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 3:

Producer Ellen scheduled it immediately because she knew you would enjoy that. But I said, nope, I'm saving it.

00:06:59 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 1:

I'm not going to go until tomorrow.

00:07:01 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

I'm having dinner with said person tonight. And I want to, because I found out all this information the first day of vacation.

00:07:08 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 1:

Can I read this real quick? It says, Mojo said something on the air six months ago that I vehemently denied. Hold on, let me Google that. Vehemently denied. I dismissed it as stupid because he had no knowledge on the subject. Well, I'm here to tell you that Mojo was right and I was wrong. That's all I'm going to say until we're on the air. Tomorrow at this time.

00:07:35 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 3:

Tomorrow? What is it? Wait, can we have a hint? Don't put this stuff in your topics. Give us a hint. Tomorrow at this time, I will admit, right after the throwback throwdown, I will admit that Mojo was right and I was wrong about a topic. Has this ever happened in 22 years? It has, twice. No, really? Twice before, yeah. Honestly? Please, I'm never wrong, so I always remember. I'm done!

00:07:59 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 1:

I don't remember this. Spikes in hell. Wait a second. There's so many things. I'm trying to think here. Hold on a second. Something...

00:08:06 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 3:

You said something on the air and I was... Something politics. I dismissed you so quickly because I said...

00:08:10 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 1:

Jim Harbaugh's not a good coach. No, I didn't.

00:08:12 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 2:

You dismissed it vehemently. In forceful, passionate, intense manner with great feelings. What could it be? I don't know. I'm trying to think.

00:08:18 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

And then the first day of vacation in December, I went out to dinner. I found out something. I said, crap, I am going to have to. I could have swept this under the rug. Mojo would have never known. But I, as a friend, realized he needs this right now. I'm going to let him know. I'm going to let him enjoy and savor being right and being wrong. But now I got to wait. Shut up your ass. I'm having dinner tonight with someone And it's the same person that told me the info And I said I'm going to wait until after dinner Because I want to make sure I have all the facts right

00:08:53 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

On tomorrow's Mojo in the morning Mojo was right Find out tomorrow

00:09:00 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 3:

You're not going to get to sleep are you We need to get the big voice guy to actually do some imaging for you

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Mojo was right

00:09:07 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Find out why

00:09:09 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 1:

At 8.22 Do you ever have a day that you know that you just want to get it over with for maybe a bad reason. I want it for a good reason. I just want to fast-forward this day.

00:09:18 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's why I figured it would be even better to put it on Friday because you're going to get to-

00:09:23 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 1:

Me fast-forwarding.

00:09:25 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

You're going to get to savor it all weekend.

00:09:28 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's rewinding it. Yeah, but now I'm going to fast-forward. I'm going through the commercials right now.

00:09:33 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 3:

The noise changed. Yeah.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

You know how Xfinity has it where you can actually fast-forward the commercials completely?

00:09:37 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 3:

And then it stops on its own. It's the best. Yes. It really does.

00:09:41 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

X1 service from Xfinity. there you go i was right i was right all right so let's get back to this topic here right now that spike's doing of the uh craziest reason why uh somebody michelle yeah hey michelle uh okay so spikes uh was it you're saying your friend right that uh blew you off That was my cousin. Your cousin.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

My cousin who shall remain nameless Because she's dead to me now

00:10:04 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

Michelle Why did somebody blow you off?

00:10:09 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 3:

This has to be the take the cake I was blown off Because they had to go home And feed their cat

00:10:18 - 00:10:27 | Speaker 6:

Ouch, that hurts and it's not even me Aren't cats self-sufficient? Don't you feed them like They can live weak

00:10:27 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 3:

Without human interaction, you put a trough of food in water. Yeah, I have to go feed a freaking cat.

00:10:36 - 00:10:38 | Speaker 6:

You can leave them for a month. They're fine.

00:10:38 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. How dare you feed a living creature?

00:10:41 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, Megan. If I said to you I can't come to dinner tonight, I have to feed my cat, you know I hate you.

00:10:48 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 5:

There's no other excuse. Because you don't have a cat.

00:10:54 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 2:

Poor Michelle. Michelle, you be good, okay? Take care of yourself Brenda how you doing Hi Hey what was the excuse why your brother Didn't come to your son's party

00:11:07 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 4:

Because it was raining outside

00:11:10 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh Jesus That's right So why Is he afraid of rain or

00:11:16 - 00:11:20 | Speaker 4:

No he just said it's raining outside I don't feel like going

00:11:20 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Was the party outside No it was inside So I don't get it He doesn't love his nephew? I guess not. Not enough. Wow. That's not a very good uncle.

00:11:38 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not.

00:11:39 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 2:

I hope that your son holds it against him.

00:11:43 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 4:

I will make sure that he does.

00:11:45 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 2:

All right. Thank you. Well, all I'm going to say is tomorrow morning on this radio show, So please listen because we are going to find out exactly what I was right about. It's going to be a good show.

00:12:00 - 00:12:01 | Speaker 6:

Should we order a cake?

00:12:02 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 2:

Please. A celebration. Yes. Please.

00:12:05 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 5:

We seriously should. I'll call Stacey over at Christine's. I would like it. It's just an excuse to get cake.

00:12:11 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 1:

One of these days, karma's going to catch up to Spike for all his phone scams. But laugh at it anyway. It's this morning at 6.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:12:22 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. I love listening to his show every morning.

00:12:25 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 1:

Now, back to Mojo in the morning.

00:12:28 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning show. Megan the Kidnapper. We're going to get to that in just a second. First, though, let me just tell you that you're listening to either Channel 955 in Detroit, 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids, or 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo. And, of course, the iHeartRadio app may be on our podcast, which you can download to your phone. So, Megan, tell the story of this, because I think people will never think that you're the type of person that would kidnap a child.

00:13:03 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 5:

Well, I just have, I think what we can all agree is the worst luck in the entire world. I'm the most unluckiest person I have ever met in my entire life. And it actually stemmed from, you know, just a couple of days ago where I was driving through my neighborhood because I do this thing when I'm really stressed out and I don't want to go home where I get to my neighborhood, but I won't pull into my driveway.

00:13:27 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 2:

I just slowly drive around for a few minutes. Anybody else do that? Just me? Kind of. But it's funny. I do that just because I know if I'm going to go home, I'm going to have to do chores.

00:13:35 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 5:

Well, it's almost like I want to stay close to home for if I have to go to the bathroom, but I just don't want to go home. I totally get this. So, I'm driving through my neighborhood. I'm driving slow. I look for houses for sale. I stop and I look them up on Zillow. Like, I don't know. It's what I do. Stop judging me. And this kid was out playing in his front yard. And he waved at me and he was super cute. And I'm, again, driving very slow. And I wave back at him. I'm like, oh, hi. How's it going? And mom was working in the front yard and turned around. didn't see her kid pay any attention to me and just saw a person driving very slow down her street trying to get the attention of her child. How much candy do you have in your child? Yeah, where are the puppies? A little creepy. Stranger danger. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Mom, very deservedly so, gave me the dirtiest look in the entire world. Like, if the judgment could kill me, I would have died behind the wheel. And I didn't know what to do other than to peel off, Which then makes me look weirdly worse Yes

00:14:45 - 00:15:10 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea tells me that I look like the Stranger Danger guy When we're at the store, like at Target And there'll be a little kid in the cart with the mom And I'll sit there and be making faces And doing that And Chelsea goes you can't do that to kids nowadays Like you can't like Because the parents think that you're Like I'm sitting there like you know doing stuff

00:15:10 - 00:15:14 | Speaker 6:

Megan's is worse because she was in her car Like going super slow

00:15:14 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 2:

She drives a white van too

00:15:16 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 6:

I have to say something About the white van thing One time I think I made a comment To Lucy and Smith About like stranger danger And just being aware of people driving through the neighborhood And at some point in that conversation, I mentioned a white van. You guys, every time they see a white van now, whether it's a minivan, a 15-passenger van, they're like, kidnapper! My friend Ashley drives a white van. She's got it.

00:15:46 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 3:

You're supposed to tell them it's ice cream trucks, and then they never want to go get ice cream. Yeah, isn't that?

00:15:51 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 6:

It was a parenting fail on my part, for sure.

00:15:54 - 00:15:56 | Speaker 3:

It's amazing they even sell white vans anymore. I know.

00:15:56 - 00:16:03 | Speaker 4:

I feel like in the future, this gives me a pass to start giving kids, like, dirty looks and flipping them off. Is that where the conclusion we're coming to?

00:16:03 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 2:

Let's talk about the psychological of why you don't go right home. Because you live at home and realistically, you're by yourself, right?

00:16:11 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:16:11 - 00:16:12 | Speaker 2:

So it's not like you're...

00:16:12 - 00:16:14 | Speaker 4:

I love telling people that on the radio.

00:16:15 - 00:16:15 | Unknown:

But no.

00:16:16 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 2:

But, well, you're not home for anybody to know. You're out in the driveway or driving the neighborhood.

00:16:21 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 6:

I get what you're doing with this. Like, I sit in my driveway sometimes and, like, either make a phone call or answer a few last emails or just scroll on Instagram because once I go in, the mom job starts.

00:16:30 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 4:

I have to start doing laundry and doing the dishes and start making dinner and mop my floor. Like, I just don't want to.

00:16:37 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever thought of living in your car?

00:16:39 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 4:

If you saw the state of my car, you would think that was already happening.

00:16:44 - 00:17:46 | Speaker 2:

But I understand where you're coming from on this one, too, because of, you know, I have done that numerous times. As a matter of fact, I got yelled at by Chelsea and Luke yesterday because the garage door was open with me just parked in the garage door having a conversation with my son, Joe. And they're like, it's freezing in the house right now because you have the garage door all the way open while you're sitting there. But I'm like, I don't want to turn my car off. It's so cold. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Can somebody tell us if there is a child that is sitting in front of their house or, in my case, like the target situation, is it creepy to wave at a child? Like, honestly. Like, has it come to this where we cannot be, even though our intentions are not that we're going to, you know, do any harm to this child, is it like something that we have to be careful of, you know, that nowadays it's gotten to be so crazy that people are automatically going to think the worst.

00:17:46 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 3:

Just to have your bets be safe and give them a finger instead of waving. Yeah.

00:17:50 - 00:17:56 | Speaker 4:

But if I ignore the kid, then it's, why is there a stick up her butt? And if I'm nice, it's, leave my kid alone, you creep.

00:17:56 - 00:18:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I can't believe, by the way, you're nice to a child. I thought you hated children.

00:18:00 - 00:18:02 | Speaker 4:

I do. I'm like a witch.

00:18:03 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 2:

So when I was younger, like, we would have, like, the neighbor guys that would come. Like, I would be out playing in front of the house and stuff. and there'd be like the old neighbor guy that there were actually i'm sorry there was an old neighbor guy mr krasnowski who was always kind of like he i don't think i he ever said hi to anybody like he was that guy he was the guy like from the movie up he was just a crotchety old dude yeah and i remember one day he came over to say hi to me and my my parents were like freaked out because they thought, what's going on? Like, what did he come over for? Because he was that guy, and he came over because I would be outside all the time, and I was the fat, dumpy kid. You know, I was out there playing by myself, had no friends. And I think he came over just because he felt bad or whatever, and he turned out to be, like, the nice guy. And then we went, and we put balloons on the outside of his house, and we flew to see his. Wouldn't that be so much fun to relive, like, one of those shows? What's up, Shannon?

00:19:08 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 5:

hi i was going to comment on you know if you think it's weird to wave to other people's kids um i'm a new mom and i have an almost two-year-old and i love when people wave and kind of play with her in a grocery store because one kids are terrible in the grocery store and being a new mom i mean it kind of distracts her from like checkout and so i absolutely love it so you're

00:19:32 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 6:

okay with it entertains them for a second how about it does it absolutely does how about if we

00:19:37 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 2:

like uh you know uh put our finger and like hit their forehead a couple of times like you know flick them i'm good with that

00:19:44 - 00:20:29 | Speaker 1:

jessica what's up hi so i had a saying about is it weird to wave to a kid yeah go ahead that is outside and i think it's not Thank you.

00:20:00 - 00:20:12 | Speaker 7:

I mean, I work at Chuck E. Cheese, and it's just something I'm used to. But to greet a child that is a neighbor or someone in your community, I don't think that's weird at all.

00:20:13 - 00:20:23 | Speaker 2:

You know what? I bet it's location, though. Because in a Chuck E. Cheese, if you're wearing a mouse costume waving at kids, it's normal. But the second you step out of Chuck E. Cheese, you're wearing a costume and waving at kids, then it's creepy.

00:20:24 - 00:20:32 | Speaker 5:

Jessica, can I ask, are you on a treadmill right now? no i'm not you just are you just nervous to be on the radio

00:20:32 - 00:20:39 | Speaker 7:

00:20:39 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 5:

00:20:48 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 6:

hey good morning hi little kid how are you my name is jessica

00:20:56 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 9:

lindsey what's up good morning guys hi what's going on yeah so um yeah my son is five he's very very talkative very approachable so we were at kroger a couple days ago and he approaches this woman in the aisle with us and he's like hi how are you and she's just straight up ignoring him and he's just like what's your name and finally she is pretty snippy with him and she goes didn't your mother teach you not to speak to strangers i don't have to really i don't have to really see my composure i just kind of i stayed observe it and i just said honey sometimes people don't feel like talking but i think it was shannon who said this earlier i wanted to be like what's your problem lady yeah evil crazy bitch now that now that we're talking about maybe she's just super anxious maybe she's afraid i'm gonna say why are you talking to my kid you weirdo you know what i mean yeah it's like you're standing right

00:22:00 - 00:22:10 | Speaker 5:

there that gives permission for dialogue with the child because it's not like you're doing creepy You should have asked her, oh, good. What aisle did you find that stick up your ass?

00:22:12 - 00:22:19 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Shea. Hi. What's up? Are you a talk-to-strangers type person, or do you?

00:22:20 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 8:

I do. I am all for it. However, I think it's really important to include the parents. So if it's like a small kid in a grocery cart, I'll speak to the kid, but also turn around and tell mom, like, your kid is so cute or something like that. That way it doesn't seem like someone's doing it behind somebody's back.

00:22:38 - 00:22:41 | Speaker 4:

What about Megan? Should Megan have screamed out the window, cute kid?

00:22:42 - 00:22:45 | Speaker 8:

And she waved at both the kid and mom, absolutely.

00:22:46 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mo.

00:22:48 - 00:23:09 | Speaker 3:

Yo. What's going on? Hey, what's going on? First time caller. Thanks for having me. So basically, I have a nephew, and every time we'll go out somewhere, hey, come on, it's time to go, he'll just start screaming. I'm like, hey, let's go. People are going to think I'm kidnapping. Come on. It's always so awkward every time.

00:23:10 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 4:

And do you drive a white van?

00:23:14 - 00:23:16 | Speaker 3:

No, but would you believe me if I tell you I used to for work?

00:23:20 - 00:23:22 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you for the calls, guys. We appreciate it.

00:23:23 - 00:23:32 | Speaker 1:

Thanks to Thermal Audio Technology, Mojo in the Morning's radio signal actually warms the car before you get into it. You're welcome. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:23:32 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 4:

Let me tell you guys a story that's funny. So I just saw this. A woman says her date disappears from the restaurant later to find him butt naked in his car. So she took to TikTok to reveal a strange story about a date that she had ended in a weird way where she said that her Tinder date left for 20 minutes while she was waiting at the table claiming that he had left his wallet in the car so she thought that he was just ghosting her and leaving her at the table. She goes out to the car only to find him butt-ass naked with an erection in the car. She didn't wait around for an explanation and she just took off.

00:24:20 - 00:24:22 | Speaker 9:

I mean, why would you wait around? Right.

00:24:23 - 00:24:25 | Speaker 5:

I don't need an explanation. I need an exit strategy.

00:24:26 - 00:24:36 | Speaker 4:

But don't you want to know if he found his wallet? I'm guessing he wasn't looking for his wallet. Who does that? By the way, are guys this bad?

00:24:36 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 5:

So I lived with two girls in college, and one of them told me a similar story that she went out after the restaurant. He said, I'll go get the car, warm it up, because it was like wintertime. She came out. He was completely naked. Turns out he was a chronic masturbator. Like, the dude was, like, addicted to it. He molested himself, like, 20 times a day. And after having a date with her, he went out to relieve him.

00:25:00 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 6:

himself do not call it that please it's just i'm trying to figure out a way to say it that's you know not not uh don't vulgar but okay but imagine like she goes out to get in the car and he has no pants on and he's touching himself and she's like oh oh and and he says no this is the right car and she's like no it's not bye-bye and uh she never saw him again has anybody ever been out on a

00:25:28 - 00:25:41 | Speaker 5:

date where the date just took off like this like literally left in the middle of the date only to find out that the guy or the girl left to do something really weird yeah well no I have not

00:25:41 - 00:26:07 | Speaker 1:

I have not but while we're waiting to get calls yeah we had this issue with a listener and I'm not going to say who it was you guys remember I was doing an appearance at a local restaurant and this guy was there and was super chatty with everybody and then went to the bathroom and the bathroom staff found him in there completely butt naked this was bad it was really bad

00:26:07 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 6:

and he used to show up at all the events

00:26:10 - 00:26:15 | Speaker 1:

and then he was banned from that particular place but that didn't stop him from showing up at other events

00:26:15 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 6:

we also had to remove him a few times because he liked to smell Shannon's hair Which is frowned upon

00:26:22 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 5:

By the way Has anybody heard from The bathroom masturbator? I have not heard from him

00:26:29 - 00:26:39 | Speaker 6:

I know he relocated to a different state A long time I think it's Florida I didn't want to say it It's a big place

00:26:39 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 5:

But the reason why I say that is I go down to visit Joe and Jed and Ashley all the time I keep thinking to myself I'm going to bump into him in a bathroom

00:26:48 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 1:

probably you're gonna feel somebody sniffing your hair that's it he didn't he didn't like my hair as

00:26:53 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 5:

much as your he was there was something about your shampoo compared to the rest of our shampoos

00:26:57 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 2:

what's up uh nikki yeah i'm kind of embarrassed mojo i love you saying in a spike let me just get that out thank you thank you we love you love you um i went to a school a big university in michigan and there was this really fine guy that i just had to get to know better um i live in an apartment building at a certain campus and i didn't know this guy had a reputation but come to find out this guy was nicknamed towel boy and the reason why he was called towel boy is whenever he got to that point of intimacy he had a towel in his pocket and he would whip it out i didn't know that that was his mo so after i was freaked out about him having this towel in his pocket i spoke to another person that knew him she's like oh you didn't know he's known as towel

00:27:44 - 00:27:51 | Speaker 5:

boy he had that towel everywhere oh boy he just keeps he just keeps the towel in his pocket

00:27:51 - 00:27:58 | Speaker 2:

that terrified me so i yeah i mean random people from that point but that was a mission in school

00:27:58 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 5:

that's people are people are very interesting i'll tell you i've heard this story from so many

00:28:03 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 6:

women of they go on a date and then they go to the bathroom and come out and the guy's completely naked sitting there thinking that he's going to get laid yeah like she says can i use the bathroom and he somehow takes it as a signal that, oh, something's going to happen, and they walk out of the bathroom, and the dude's completely naked.

00:28:20 - 00:28:21 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, Dirty John.

00:28:21 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 6:

That's right.

00:28:22 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 1:

This happened on the show, Dirty John. Yeah.

00:28:24 - 00:28:27 | Speaker 5:

Who's Dirty John? Dirty John's the TV show that was on.

00:28:27 - 00:28:28 | Speaker 6:

Oh, oh.

00:28:28 - 00:28:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:28:29 - 00:28:30 | Speaker 6:

I thought it was a friend of ours. No.

00:28:30 - 00:28:38 | Speaker 5:

No, not Dirty John. Oh, yeah, Dirty John. Dirty John. Oh, yeah, yeah. Hannah. Hi. Hi.

00:28:38 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 3:

Um, so I went on a date with a friend of a friend a couple of years ago and, you know, it was going all right. But when we were sitting down eating dinner, he got a call and he said, Oh, just, it'll just be one second. And he answered it. And it was his friends asking him if he wanted to come play Dungeons and Dragons. And he said, yeah, I'll be there. I could probably be there in like 15, 20 minutes.

00:29:04 - 00:29:07 | Speaker 5:

He was cutting your date short to go play Dungeons. Yes.

00:29:07 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and he even had the audacity to ask for a second date later, but I was like, I don't think so.

00:29:15 - 00:29:22 | Speaker 5:

That's when you know your love life is bad, when the guy leaves you in the middle of the date to go play Dungeons & Dragons. Shelly, what's up?

00:29:23 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 4:

Hi, how's it going?

00:29:24 - 00:29:25 | Speaker 5:

Good, what's going on?

00:29:26 - 00:29:32 | Speaker 4:

So I went on a couple dates with a guy who kept leaving the table because he was addicted to eating his boogers.

00:29:32 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 6:

Oh my goodness. He couldn't even go through a date without doing it.

00:29:38 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I thought I caught him many times, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. And then finally I said, are you eating your boogers?

00:29:47 - 00:29:48 | Unknown:

And he yelled at me and said no.

00:29:49 - 00:29:56 | Speaker 4:

He yelled at me and said no. And then he came back and he said, Shelley, I have something to admit to you. I've been addicted to eating my boogers. Oh my gosh!

00:29:57 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 6:

That is disgusting.

00:29:59 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 3:

I literally... You know, they always say the three questions you should ask a date. What do you do for a living? Do you have any siblings? And do you eat your boogers?

00:30:09 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's awesome. Thank you for the call.

00:30:12 - 00:30:25 | Speaker 4:

We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around. Now we're broke and single. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. The Mojo in the Morning Show. I'm all over it, James. Now.

00:30:25 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 1:

Donuts, Alex speaking. How may I help you?

00:30:31 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 3:

Pakistani Paul, how are you doing today? I'm doing good. Good. Listen, I'm calling for the job. All right, hold on a second.

00:30:39 - 00:30:42 | Speaker 1:

It's my husband and I know that it's my call.

00:30:44 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 3:

Hi, this is Randy. How can I help you? Hey, Randy, how are you doing? I'm calling about the job. Which job? For making the donuts. I have traveled all over the world, and I have more experience in the world of donut than anyone you know. Okay. In New Orleans, I made a beignet, which is that little French donut with the powdered sugar on it.

00:31:01 - 00:31:01 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:31:01 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 3:

In Detroit, I used to make the punchki for the Polish people there.

00:31:06 - 00:31:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay. Don't cut out on me. I'm sorry. Okay. You have a cell phone or something, pal?

00:31:10 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 3:

I'm making up some of these malasadas. You ever have those? When I lived in Hawaii, we used to make them. The early Portuguese people made them in there, deep fried. They're delicious. Well, that sounds cool. Did you go online and do the application there? No, I'm calling you. I don't have a computer.

00:31:24 - 00:31:26 | Speaker 4:

Okay, yeah. The only way we hire is through the online application.

00:31:27 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's a problem.

00:31:28 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 4:

If you can get down to your local library, something like that, you fill out the application. We can do it from there.

00:31:32 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, I'm not allowed down at the library, per se, because of the accident. Okay. It was a career day thing for the kids, and with the deep fryer, I had an accident. I burned a few schoolchildren there, so I'm not allowed in the library anymore. But what I could do is you hire me. I'll come down there. I'll show you a few tricks, and you'll be gaining 10 pounds just from my expertise.

00:31:53 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 4:

I'm gaining 10 pounds right now. Perfect. I really, I got to tell you, you got to go through the online application. I really can't do anything else besides that.

00:32:00 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 3:

How are you guys putting the holes in the donut now? It's a trade secret. Well, because I want to be the guy who puts the holes in the donut. Oh, okay. Yeah, because what we did down in South Jersey was we used to, I would just lay there, and somebody comes along with the donut in my dingle dangle, and he put a big hole in it.

00:32:16 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 4:

You know what, this is great Is this a radio station? Perhaps

00:32:21 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 3:

You're live on the Mojo on the Morning Show You've just been phone scanned

00:32:26 - 00:32:30 | Speaker 4:

00:32:44 - 00:33:23 | Speaker 2:

can i stop this for just one second just one second please i didn't even get to do i didn't get to do half my jokes i know you had too many more jokes there and he caught on to you it's very rare by the way that they catch on to you right away that they know that it's the uh the scam they must listen all the time because of that can i pull out a classic uh today i want to uh Because right away when you started doing the scam, I kept thinking to myself, oh, my God, no donut phone scam will ever compare to the phone scam that we did on Dunkin' Donuts.

00:33:23 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. That's going back a while. That's a throwback phone scam. That's where I called a local Dunkin' Donuts to pay tribute. Remember, it was the day after the founder of Dunkin' Donuts died.

00:33:34 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and you called up a donut shop, one of the Dunkin' Donuts, and got the entire donut shop to stand up and do a moment of silence for the founder.

00:33:44 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning Phones. Thank you for calling Dunkin' Donuts. May I help you?

00:33:49 - 00:33:58 | Speaker 3:

Hi, it's Michael Schuller from Corporate. Yes. Colin, because we found out a bunch of our stores didn't get the memo about the moment of silence. Did you guys get that? Are you online and ready?

00:34:00 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Let me ask Cindy.

00:34:01 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 3:

Thanks. A memo on what now? On the moment of silence we're about to do. All right, hang on. Thanks.

00:34:10 - 00:34:19 | Unknown:

You've got a level on the moment of silence. Oh, God, make sure they can't hurry.

00:34:22 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 3:

No, sir, she didn't. Okay, can you put Cindy on?

00:34:25 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 4:

Hang on.

00:34:25 - 00:34:26 | Speaker 3:

Okay, thanks.

00:34:27 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 4:

They're here. Pick up the phone.

00:34:32 - 00:34:33 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Cindy.

00:34:34 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:34:34 - 00:34:36 | Speaker 3:

It's Michael Shuler from Corporate.

00:34:36 - 00:34:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:34:36 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 3:

We found out a bunch of stores in the Southeastern District didn't get the memo on the moment of silence. You didn't get that?

00:34:43 - 00:34:44 | Speaker 4:

No, I did not.

00:34:45 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 3:

All the stores in the chain, all 5,000 shops, are going to do a moment of silence for William Rosenberg, for the founder of Dunkin' Donuts.

00:34:51 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 4:

Right. I know that he died. I did hear that on the news, but I didn't hear anything else.

00:34:56 - 00:35:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I could talk you through it if you didn't get the memo. It's pretty simple. It's just a quick ceremony all the stores are doing.

00:35:02 - 00:35:03 | Speaker 4:

Okay. For today?

00:35:03 - 00:35:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's supposed to happen in about three minutes. Oh, okay. While we're waiting, we've got about a minute here until it starts. How's everything working out? Everything going well?

00:35:10 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 4:

Everything's going fine.

00:35:12 - 00:35:13 | Speaker 3:

What's the top seller today?

00:35:13 - 00:35:17 | Speaker 4:

Apple crumbs doing fine. Good. Pumpkin spice is doing real well.

00:35:17 - 00:35:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I love this time of year.

00:35:18 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:35:19 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 3:

How about the coffee roll? Is that doing all right?

00:35:21 - 00:35:25 | Speaker 4:

The cinnamon coffee roll? Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's doing a lot better than the ones that we had, like with the chocolate frosting.

00:35:25 - 00:35:27 | Speaker 3:

You guys carry the blueberry crumb down there?

00:35:27 - 00:35:28 | Speaker 4:

No.

00:35:28 - 00:35:30 | Speaker 3:

To try it. A lot of stores are having success there.

00:35:30 - 00:35:32 | Speaker 4:

Like the blueberry? It's filled like the apple crumbs?

00:35:32 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, same thing, but blueberry, and then they also have the strawberry frosted, which is just like the chocolate frosted.

00:35:37 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 4:

Mm-hmm.

00:35:38 - 00:35:39 | Speaker 3:

Good stuff. All right, we're about 30 seconds away.

00:35:40 - 00:35:41 | Speaker 4:

Do I need to get my employees, or?

00:35:41 - 00:35:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, actually, in fact, why don't we do it? Oh, we've got about 40 seconds here. It's just a quick thing, and you'll get the whole store. Okay. How do you like the new tagline, the Just the Thing tagline? Everything working out well? The what now? The new tagline that the company's going to start, it's called Just the Thing.

00:35:57 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 4:

I don't know nothing about that.

00:35:58 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 3:

See, that's what I'm afraid of. I've got to make sure you guys are getting the memos, because that's a $68 million ad campaign we're starting. I don't know nothing about that. All right. I'll talk to Marie and make sure you guys are getting everything.

00:36:08 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:36:09 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 3:

All right. So here's what we're going to do. If you can get everybody's attention in the store, just ask the customers, you know, please rise. This will just take a second, but we're going to remember the founder of Dunkin' Donuts.

00:36:18 - 00:36:22 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Tell them that we're going to have a moment of silence for the founder of Dunkin' Donuts.

00:36:23 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Say, everybody, please raise your coffee cup.

00:36:26 - 00:36:28 | Speaker 4:

Raise your coffee cup in silence.

00:36:29 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 3:

To a great man, William Rosenberg.

00:36:31 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 4:

To the great man, William Rosenberg.

00:36:34 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 3:

The father of franchising as we know it today.

00:36:37 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 4:

Father of franchising we know today.

00:36:40 - 00:36:46 | Speaker 3:

A true visionary and the reason we're all here. The true, the what? A true visionary and the reason we're all here.

00:36:46 - 00:36:48 | Speaker 4:

A true visionary and the reason why we're all here.

00:36:48 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 3:

All right, and then let's end with just repeat the Latin motto that Mr. Rosenberg lived by. Just say, this iso.

00:36:55 - 00:36:56 | Speaker 4:

Iso?

00:36:57 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

00:36:58 - 00:36:59 | Speaker 4:

Repeat after me. Iso?

00:36:59 - 00:37:10 | Speaker 3:

Iso. So ridiculiso. What is it? It's this iso ridiculiso. You just been a victim of phone scam-o.

00:37:11 - 00:37:12 | Unknown:

I can't understand.

00:37:13 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 3:

You just been the victim of a mojo in the morning phone scam.

00:37:16 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're kidding.

00:37:17 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 3:

There's no moment of silence, I'm sorry to tell you Hello? Oh, she hung

00:37:27 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 5:

We will, we will scam you You've been phone scammed It's Mojo in the Morning's World Famous Phone Scams

00:37:47 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 1:

mojo in the morning show so do you become honest or do you become deceptive um we got to get some advice here from mike on a parenting issue that he's faced with mike you got will you tell the story that you told us in our pre-show meeting this morning that there's a little dilemma here for you and ally and i hope that uh cecily's not listening right

00:38:15 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 2:

No, no. I know when she's in the car. She's not listening right now.

00:38:18 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:38:18 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good.

00:38:18 - 00:38:20 | Speaker 1:

All right. Perfect timing for this one. Okay.

00:38:20 - 00:38:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. We got the cat we promised her, the kitty we promised her, right when we got back from L.A. So it was about a week ago. What'd you name the cat? Cecily named it. She named it Sweetie.

00:38:33 - 00:38:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh. Oh.

00:38:34 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 2:

Like Saw-weedy or Sweetie? I call it Saw-weedy, but like we say, Bessie and Artessie all the time. But she called it Sweetie because when she got there, because she wanted to be surprised. We picked out the cat. She wanted to be surprised and met the cat for the first time at the adoption place. And so it came up to her, and it was like a really nice cat. It was a sweetie. So she named it Sweetie. I love it. And it's been a week, and I haven't talked about it yet because day two of getting the cat, she woke up that morning because the cat's sleeping with her now, which is awesome. It's what we wanted. But her eyes are swollen shut. Oh, jeez. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, gee. Oh, Mike.

00:39:19 - 00:39:24 | Speaker 3:

Wait, did you notice any allergies or anything when you guys were volunteering at the shelter and visiting the cats?

00:39:25 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

No. Well, no. Well, she's been around pets before, too. Like, it's not. She's never. We've never volunteered at any of the shelters, but she's been around pets before and never had an issue. And she's been tested for allergies when we found out she had an egg allergy. So she got tested, and she had very little, very minimal to any of the other stuff. So we weren't too worried about it. But this is a – it's like her eyes are swollen shut when she wakes up every morning. And she puts eye drops in it, and it goes away.

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 5:

I mean, the second, you know, she's back within like an hour, it does the same thing. Yeah, I know.

00:40:07 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 6:

You didn't want this cat in the beginning, did you?

00:40:10 - 00:40:14 | Speaker 5:

No. No, I really didn't. I still don't, but it makes her happy.

00:40:14 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 6:

Mike, you might be winning this thing.

00:40:17 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm not, because now I'm fighting to keep the cat. Yeah. Yeah, once the kids are introduced and fall in love with it.

00:40:25 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 1:

That's me, by the way. I'm so, so allergic to cats. What do you do? I mean, so I'll tell you this We had dogs, like my mom has always had golden retrievers Growing up, and I was very, very allergic to them I had to get allergy shots That was the only thing, because like No allergy medicine was strong enough For me, so I would go and get allergy shots Like once or twice a week, depending on Like my age

00:40:46 - 00:41:28 | Speaker 6:

So your family Still had a pet, even though you had the Yes, jerks That's like cruel and unusual It is, yeah By the way, Mike Like I think that there's a lot of people that have had this where like they brought a pet home and then something happens like the pet is like the devil. And they're like, I don't know if we can do this, you know, or in this case, which is this is nobody should come down on you. This is legit. You know, you got allergies. But what do you do? Does the pet run away? Does the pet, did the pet miraculously die?

00:41:28 - 00:41:31 | Speaker 1:

Have you tried giving her like a Zyrtec or a Claritin or something?

00:41:32 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 5:

All we've done so far, because it stopped for a day and then it came back. And then it stopped for a day and it came back. And so all we've done so far is just eye drops just to get rid of the redness.

00:41:42 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 1:

I wonder if you throw her some, like a, you know.

00:41:44 - 00:41:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but why do you want to medicate your kid over a cat?

00:41:47 - 00:42:29 | Speaker 1:

But a lot of kids, you know, until they get a little more used to it, take allergy medicine. You can build up a little tolerance. You can build up a tolerance. Okay, so let me tell you this. Charlie is my dog, and he's a toy poodle. And I'm really allergic to dogs as well. I'm allergic to everything, okay? When I first got him, and he's supposedly hyperallergenic, which, by the way, if anybody tells you that, there's no such thing. Even if they don't shed, you're allergic to the dander and the saliva most of the time. So when I got him, hypoallergenic dog, like the first month, I was Cecily. I was sneezing. My eyes were whatever. But then my doctor even said to me, you will build up a tolerance to this animal because you're around them all the time. And I have. I have no issue now.

00:42:29 - 00:42:31 | Speaker 6:

Did you contemplate getting rid of Charlie?

00:42:32 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 1:

I contemplated giving him to my mom. Yeah, I really did.

00:42:37 - 00:42:39 | Speaker 6:

Dawn, any advice for Mike on what he should do?

00:42:39 - 00:42:52 | Speaker 2:

yes you can actually take sweetie to the vet and they will give um her medication that she'll take once a month and then nobody will have any allergies really

00:42:52 - 00:43:03 | Speaker 6:

they can that's really interesting they can give medication to an animal to get rid of the allergies that a human has yes once a month interesting that's a very interesting don't

00:43:03 - 00:43:17 | Speaker 5:

get rid of her take her to the vet you gotta explore that yeah i'm not gonna i'm definitely not gonna get rid i can't get rid of her i don't we had a fish incident remember we got that fish a long time ago and that disappeared and i haven't heard the end of it since since that yeah wait how

00:43:17 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 6:

did that fish disappear again refresh my memory i went to the doctors because it was sick yeah

00:43:21 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 1:

oh i love that sweetie already sleeps with sass yeah like that's huge taylor she loves her what

00:43:28 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 3:

do you think taylor what you might do so there's i just saw a commercial last night there's a new I think it's by Purina, a cat food that supposedly, like, reduces the allergens and dander released by the cat. So that can be something to try.

00:43:42 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 6:

Interesting that you say that because we got about 15 text messages with the similar thing. So Purina makes some kind of a food that will make your pet, your cat, less allergy-ridden than for humans.

00:43:59 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 5:

I thought we'd have to do something with Ceci, honestly.

00:44:01 - 00:44:03 | Speaker 6:

You thought that you were going to have to, like, get rid of Cecily?

00:44:04 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Yeah, no. No, I thought we were going to have to get, like, a bunch of, like, get shots. We'll get this Purina and feed it to Cess and the cat. Double up.

00:44:12 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 6:

Gabby, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning Show. How are you?

00:44:16 - 00:44:17 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you guys?

00:44:17 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 6:

Good. Any advice for Mike here?

00:44:20 - 00:44:34 | Speaker 4:

I was just thinking, you mentioned that you just got the cat. Maybe, and that it comes and goes. Maybe it's, like, a product they use cleaning the cat or something. And then when she pets that area of the cat And like touches her face

00:44:34 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 6:

So it could be a number of things

00:44:35 - 00:44:41 | Speaker 4:

Right, maybe if you guys tried bathing her The cat, maybe that would help

00:44:41 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 6:

Have you bathed the cat yet, Mike? Because bathing an animal is always a pain in the ass

00:44:45 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 5:

I didn't even think you bathed cats, honestly I don't know, I'm not a cat owner

00:44:49 - 00:44:54 | Speaker 6:

But we usually don't We bathed our dogs You don't ever bathe them ever? Or do you take them to get groomed?

00:44:54 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 1:

No, cats just take care of themselves

00:44:56 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 6:

You don't ever give a cat a bath?

00:44:59 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 1:

I really never knew this

00:45:00 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 5:

No, if you have a hairless cat, you actually have to, like, clean their ears and clean their skin. So, like, hairless cats are way more work, but normal cats, you don't bathe. You know, I'd like to ask this question because I think these calls could be kind of relatively amusing. But I would like to know whose parents got rid of the animal without them knowing about it, and what was the thing that they told you happened to the animal? Not that Mike's going to do this with Saweetie.

00:45:24 - 00:45:43 | Speaker 4:

No, no. Okay, but what did happen with the fish is the fish, we went on vacation for a weekend, and we put fish food in the thing and we came back and the fish had jumped out of the fish bowl or whatever. I have no idea why. Maybe the water wasn't right or something. It was sitting on the floor and it just died. It went to the doctor.

00:45:44 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 1:

It just didn't make it.

00:45:46 - 00:45:48 | Speaker 5:

It was an Olympic high jumper.

00:45:48 - 00:45:49 | Speaker 1:

It was dead upon arrival.

00:45:49 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 4:

Went to the big aquarium in the sky.

00:45:52 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 5:

Mike, have you posted any pictures of Saweetie on your on your social media at all? Because I've not seen what Sweetie looks like. No. Allie has.

00:46:03 - 00:46:05 | Speaker 4:

Allie has, yes. Has she? Yes.

00:46:06 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 5:

They say that animals start resembling their owners. Does Sweetie look more like you or Allie?

00:46:14 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I mean, she picked the cat, so maybe her, I guess.

00:46:19 - 00:46:19 | Speaker 5:

Maybe Allie.

00:46:19 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you, I wanted nothing to do with this cat, but now I have no choice but to say. I know. I know.

00:46:24 - 00:46:37 | Speaker 5:

You were hoping that you would have found out that Cecily had issues with allergies before you got the cat so that you could have gotten your dog that you wanted, right? Yeah, that's all I wanted was a dog. Taylor, what happened with you when you were a kid?

00:46:38 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so when I was a little kid, I was probably eight years old. It was my second cat, and the cat started peeing around the house, and my dad wanted none of that. They just got new carpet. So he dropped it off on the dirt road by the side of our house, and I said, where's Zoe? Where's Zoe? And he just said Oh she decided she didn't want to live with us So I took her and she lived at the trailer park Probably

00:47:02 - 00:47:07 | Speaker 5:

But you know cats are smart They can figure out a way to come home

00:47:07 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 3:

Oh I know and I took my little Barbie bike at the time and I went out For three hours looking for her all along The dirt road

00:47:14 - 00:47:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh that's cruel Dad just dropping the cat off

00:47:19 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 3:

I never forgave him for that And nor should you

00:47:22 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 5:

Yes thank you for the call

00:47:26 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, thank you. Have a good one, guys.

00:47:28 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Jessica? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:47:31 - 00:48:10 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I'm coming about the sleeping with the cat. My son had the same issue, but at my mom's house, he would look like death. And he said that at a point he couldn't breathe good. So when at our house with our cat, we got a new cat, too. And it started happening every now and then with us, too. And our vet recommended do not sleep. do not have the child sleep with the cat in the bed oh that might be a good yeah that might be a very good idea just to especially sleep wise it might get really really bad and you don't know yeah that's good advice hold off with it in the bedroom thanks for the advice

00:48:10 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 5:

yep bye uh audrey what's up what happened to your pet when your parents wanted to get rid of it

00:48:16 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 2:

um okay well growing up my mom she wasn't around like that my grandparents took care of us but for some reason my mom would always get dogs always we should always get a dog and then the dog would end up with us at our grandparents house and i would go to school and i would come home and my grandparents would always say that they took the dog to a farm that had that farm oh the farm yep and i've always believed it until like high school like i really believe that the dogs just

00:48:47 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 5:

needed a better life with a bigger yard and a farm yeah the farm that i think every parent for some reason back in the day you used to bring that whole farm thing in my mind too i like to believe

00:48:57 - 00:49:01 | Speaker 4:

there is a farm somewhere with just a bunch of dogs running around just a bunch of pets and

00:49:01 - 00:49:06 | Speaker 5:

animals running around somewhere jen what's up it's mojo in the morning so i don't think it was

00:49:06 - 00:49:29 | Speaker 1:

on purpose i don't think but um when i was a kid my dad ran over my cat oh geez oh my god So I came home from school, you know, where is Bear? And he told me that it ran away, so I, like, cried for weeks. But later I realized he buried it in the backyard.

00:49:30 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 5:

How did you find that out? Did you just see, like, the grass looked different?

00:49:34 - 00:49:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, there was, like, this, you know, it was newish looking, and I asked him, and the neighborhood, the neighbor kid told me, Yeah, your dad told my mom that. I'm like, what? So, yeah, that happened.

00:49:48 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 5:

Somebody texted us and said that their parent did the same thing that that one caller's parent did, where they dropped the cat off, like, you know, miles or whatever way, and the cat came back.

00:50:00 - 00:50:07 | Speaker 2:

They're smart. They kept coming back to the house. Dad would be probably pissed off every time that happened. What's up, Mackenzie?

00:50:08 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 1:

Good morning.

00:50:10 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. What's going on?

00:50:12 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 1:

I had a little pig. Our family had lived out in the farm. It had made its way over to our house. And my little brother and I raised it. When our parents decided it was getting too big and it needed to go back to live with its family, Later as adults, we found out it became bacon.

00:50:29 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Poor piggy. I don't know how you raise kids on a farm when they all are going to get attached to the cute little baby animals. My grandfather lived on a turkey farm. His parents, you know, my great-grandparents were turkey farmers. He could never have turkey for Thanksgiving.

00:50:49 - 00:50:50 | Speaker 3:

I wouldn't be able to either.

00:50:50 - 00:51:05 | Speaker 2:

Because that was his job as a kid was to slaughter the turkey. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. Well, Mike, I hope everything works out. Try that Purina thing or maybe not sleeping with it. All those were good advice.

00:51:06 - 00:51:11 | Speaker 1:

Enter Detroit. Go. Back to more Mojo in the Morning. Mojo. No. No.

00:51:12 - 00:51:23 | Speaker 2:

So I just read this and I got caught off guard. Shannon's boyfriend has a new boyfriend. Shannon's boyfriend, Wes, has a new boyfriend?

00:51:23 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 3:

This is a cute story. So we went to the mall last night, Wes and I did, and he needed to find some clothes. We're going to a wedding tomorrow that's out of state. And so he just, you know, needed a few new things. And so we were at this one particular store and he had a few different shirts and a pair of pants that he was going to buy. So we walk up to the cash register and he throws everything up there. And the cashier was the cutest gay man in the whole entire world. And he kept complimenting us as a couple, which I thought was so sweet. Well, at one point, he takes one of the shirts that Wes had, and this cashier's examining it, and he said to me, he said, Oh, this one looks like it has a hole in it. Honey, can you run in the back and just grab me a different one so I can ring it up instead? I don't want to give you the one with the hole in it. So I did. I went to the back of the store where the other shirts were, grabbed a new one, brought it back up to the front. Oh, he was calling you, honey? Called me, honey. Okay. Just said, you know, honey, can you go grab me one, whatever? This one has a hole. I don't want to give you the one with a hole, which I didn't see the hole, but whatever. Okay. So Wes paid, and we walked out. And about a minute or two later, Wes started cracking up, and apparently there was no hole in the shirt. The guy sent me away for a reason to flirt with Wes and then ring up his entire purchase with his employee discount. Yeah. Wow. I loved it. I loved it. I thought, dang, there was some stuff I saw. You should have thrown it on the pile.

00:52:54 - 00:53:00 | Speaker 2:

I was going to say, isn't that the job of the person working at the store to go run out and get the extra shirt?

00:53:00 - 00:53:03 | Speaker 3:

No, he wanted some alone time.

00:53:03 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 2:

Did you not think that that was weird that he was sending you out at the time to do that?

00:53:06 - 00:53:12 | Speaker 3:

No, I just, I would have done it anyway. Even if he hadn't asked, I would have been the one to run to the back and grab one.

00:53:12 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 2:

You guys were not at a Nordstrom's because at a Nordstrom's is going to happen. We weren't at Nordstrom's. If you go to a Nordstrom or whatever.

00:53:17 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to stay at the store because I don't want this guy to get in trouble, but it was really cute.

00:53:22 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

Here's the question. Has a person that has been working either at a store or a restaurant or wherever you are ever hit on your date? Has that ever happened to you? Have you ever experienced that? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. So this guy was...

00:53:37 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 3:

Wes was so flattered, by the way.

00:53:39 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 2:

That's wild. Did he not understand that Wes and you were in a relationship together?

00:53:44 - 00:53:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, because he, like I said, he complimented us as a couple and I made a joke and I said, oh, this is my brother.

00:53:49 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 2:

He must have thought.

00:53:50 - 00:53:54 | Speaker 3:

He goes, obviously, he's not your brother. So he knew we were boyfriend-girlfriends.

00:53:54 - 00:54:01 | Speaker 2:

He must have thought, I can take this guy away from her. Look at this one here.

00:54:01 - 00:54:03 | Speaker 3:

Just because there's a goalie doesn't mean he can't score.

00:54:03 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

That's right. Ooh, hey. Here you go. We are a hockey town. Welcome to the show. I've seen this happen before at restaurants where you're at a restaurant and the waitress will sit down and it's happened to me and Chelsea before and I didn't take it as she was hitting on me or flirting, Chelsea did the waitress sat down next to me and she took the order sitting next to me and the whole time was just sitting there like talking away and she was a person that had actually listened to the show and so she was kind of like touching my hand and doing all that stuff and then when she brought the food back, this was the funniest thing it was us and we had the kids with us too, she puts all the food down except for chelsea's is the only one so not only did you sit down next touch my hand and then basically talk to me the entire time that we were at the uh the restaurant but she also didn't even bring her meal

00:55:00 - 00:55:13 | Speaker 9:

made me so happy uh what's going on sarah how you doing hey i'm doing good how are you guys good so shannon's boyfriend got hit on by a guy a sales guy uh have you ever had this happen to

00:55:13 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 6:

you yeah so we were in vegas actually with my boyfriend and he went into the shoe store to get new shoes and the guy was like obsessed with him and was like bidding him was taking a lot of time and like i don't know i was in there for like 10-15 minutes other people walked in and

00:55:29 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 9:

he told him to leave really like when you say he was fitting him like was he fitting him like

00:55:35 - 00:55:46 | Speaker 6:

touching him and doing all that stuff yes yes he was like touching his feet and like got a few different i don't know it was different than a normal shoe store wow so did you take offense

00:55:46 - 00:55:58 | Speaker 9:

to that or did you like shannon go this is fantastic i don't care yeah i was like well maybe he'll give you a discount amy what's going on how are you good how are y'all good when somebody

00:55:58 - 00:56:06 | Speaker 7:

00:56:06 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 9:

and gave me a free drink oh don't you love when that happens yes it was great yeah it kind of makes you feel extra special just your boyfriend knowing that uh you know it doesn't make a difference if it's a same-sex situation and you're not uh you're not gay it makes you feel good exactly yeah thank you for the call appreciate it thank you love you too what's you gonna say

00:56:33 - 00:57:01 | Speaker 5:

00:57:42 - 00:57:45 | Speaker 9:

Oh, wow

00:57:45 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 4:

And he was very embarrassed And my husband was like, oh my god, I'm so sorry But he does get good deals on the artist's work Which is very helpful Because that stuff's very expensive

00:57:58 - 00:58:06 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, that's what Shannon was looking at The whole time all Shannon's caring about Is the employee discount Amber, last call Amber, what's up?

00:58:07 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, so my boyfriend and I were at a bar And some guy asked me for my phone number And my boyfriend hands me a Kino pencil With a bar napkin to write his phone number down And I ended up dating this guy So that's a funny story Oh, yeah

00:58:23 - 00:58:27 | Speaker 1:

I'm sure the man you're with Didn't think it was a funny story

00:58:27 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 9:

I gotta grab Sarah Because I love this Because this kind of goes with the Wes thing I don't know if the guy actually was touching his body With the clothes that he was putting them on But Sarah, what happened?

00:58:38 - 00:58:55 | Speaker 3:

i went with my husband to aeropostol and the girl instantly came up to him and asked him if i if he needed his inseam measures we're just trying to keep people in aeropostol honestly

00:58:55 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 9:

and of course he said yes he was like absolutely absolutely not

00:59:02 - 00:59:10 | Speaker 2:

we don't hold hands it's not that we're against pda's we're just always holding our phones This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:59:24 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 9:

Mojo in the Morning, Joe. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. um spike do you get a chance to see uh friends that uh you grew up with and stuff when you were

00:59:40 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

back visiting fam it was nice getting back on the east coast having not seen most people for two years or more and i got to see a lot of family and friends although there were a lot of people i didn't get to see because of covid and staying separate and depending on family situations uh but i also got some time alone my girlfriend i went to new york camera.

01:00:00 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 2:

After we spent time with family, we had a little mini vacation and just spent two days in New York City. And it was nice to sightsee because there were so few people there. It was kind of quiet to what I'm used to. I go to New York all the time. And we had that city to ourselves. It was so nice. But there's a brand new observatory they built, this big skyscraper over Grand Central Terminal. And they have a new observation deck called the Summit. and it's a really cool place to go up and see the entire city. You're on the 95th floor. It's huge. It's just up above everything else and you just get this beautiful view of the rest of the skyline, the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building and the rivers and bridges. It's beautiful up there and it's also very Instagrammable. They built this for a younger audience. They know how to stage really cool pictures and give you good scenes and everything and if you've been on my Instagram at Radio Spike, you saw some of those pictures. they really did it up right because the old places like if you go on the top of the rock or the Empire State Building or some of the older buildings they're like two feet thick glass reflected you can't see over the edge it's not as nice to see this is brand new and they did everything right when you go all the way to the very top they have a bar on the roof so you're outdoors the sun's setting the city's lighting up and you're having cocktails

01:01:21 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 1:

and we're just having a nice time that just seems like an accident waiting to happen

01:01:25 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 2:

though drinking outdoors no but the the they do have glass that's like you know 10 feet high so you can't scale it and get over it uh but we were having drinks on the rooftop and watching the sunset behind the empire state building and all of a sudden the guy i see just about 10 feet over a guy gets down on one knee and starts to propose and i was like ah good spot right so i i tap on my girlfriend meg i said look the guy's proposing and no sooner do i point and look at the guy we witness him or i witness her say no oh god it was so awkward she's so jealous you could tell by the body language you could tell by the body language she's kind of shaking her head and she wouldn't she's like pulling him up he got on his knee and she's pulling his arm up like no no don't do this here don't do this and i'm like don't do this here this is a great spot to do this so obviously she did not want a proposal and she was looking around at everybody oh that would make me so uncomfortable yeah so we're watching and it was so awkward because he's just got this shocked look on his face she's folding the ring box back in his hand like pushing it down towards his pocket so she didn't put it on her finger no and they just kind of sat there they talked i mean they stood there talking to each other for a second and then we watched them kind of trail off towards the exit and i was like oh my god do they even go down the elevator together at this point like that was a disaster so i don't know pay money to have a real life experience oh and i was watching it are you sure i was watching like it's a tv show and i was like what it all just happened so fast i was like man i i should have whipped out my camera i'm a skeptic whenever this stuff

01:03:08 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 1:

happens anymore now because they do it at basketball games you know all the time where they'll do it on their diamond yeah they're all yeah but they'll do it and the person says no And it just looks so fake I feel like people are always setting us up For a viral thing

01:03:21 - 01:03:23 | Speaker 3:

I'm kind of with you with this

01:03:23 - 01:03:32 | Speaker 1:

Like it's a couple that goes in there and goes Let's go up there and let's play a trick on people Because you know that there's going to be people videotaping us And we'll go viral with this whole thing

01:03:32 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 2:

I just got the vibe watching them They were not acting it up They were trying not to be seen This girl was embarrassed She wasn't like looking around And crying and everything She was trying not to be seen and she wanted to sink back into the shrubbery. And the guy was so – you could see the emotion on his face. This was not like – because I always – I'm the biggest skeptic in this room. I always tell you guys all those viral videos are fake. But this looked like just a disaster.

01:04:01 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 3:

If you have ever declined a proposal or been declined, please call. And it was a public proposal too.

01:04:08 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, they weren't trying to be public. It looked like they were having their own little moment. I just noticed it because the guy got down on one knee.

01:04:15 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 1:

Like, how do you do that? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

01:04:20 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 2:

They didn't even have someone recording it. You know, like a lot of couples now will have somebody film and seeker and everything. They didn't even have someone there with them, just the two of them.

01:04:29 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 1:

Did anybody else notice it and anybody groan or make noises or anything like that?

01:04:33 - 01:04:36 | Speaker 2:

I could see the people next to us were looking at them, too. So I think people noticed.

01:04:36 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:04:37 - 01:04:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:04:37 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 1:

By the way, that's a bad place to decline a proposal with the poor guy up on top of that huge lookout building. And now he has to go all the way down? Is it a long way down?

01:04:48 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

It's one elevator to go up and down to this 95th floor. And I'm like, does she wait for another elevator? Are they going back to talk about this more?

01:05:00 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 1:

Or, like, do they stay in the same hotel room that night? Like, all this was going through my head.

01:05:04 - 01:05:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm one of those people, by the way, with those observation decks. I go up there, and two seconds later, I'm like, all right, let's go. Like, it takes, like, forever to get up there. And I'm like, oh. Like, the one that's up in Chicago at the Willits, formerly Sears Tower. Yeah. That's, like, the glass thing. Oh, I love that one. Oh, God. Are you afraid of heights, or it's just not interesting to you? I'm just like, oh, great. Like, you know, look, I can. My biggest nightmare is someone who loves travel.

01:05:31 - 01:05:37 | Speaker 1:

My biggest nightmare would be having to go sightsee with Mojo. Oh, seriously, I don't blame you. He's just so bored of everything.

01:05:37 - 01:05:40 | Speaker 3:

It's an adrenaline rush. This is great. Let's go.

01:05:41 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 1:

Did you go to the Grand Canyon when you lived out in Arizona?

01:05:44 - 01:05:45 | Speaker 3:

Listen, five minutes.

01:05:46 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 1:

Five minutes. What? Yes. Yeah, it's a hole.

01:05:50 - 01:05:55 | Speaker 3:

We're not going down in the ground. We're going to stand up at the observation. Let's look. Everybody, let's go.

01:05:55 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 4:

I can see Mojo getting there and go, this is it?

01:05:57 - 01:06:02 | Speaker 3:

Cars leaving in five minutes, kids. What's going on, Taylor? How you doing?

01:06:04 - 01:06:05 | Speaker 4:

I'm all right. How are you?

01:06:05 - 01:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Good. Taylor, it says here that you got proposed to multiple times?

01:06:10 - 01:06:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, my now ex-husband proposed to me, like, once a week for a year. And I kept saying no, kept saying no, and finally I broke down and said yes because I knew he wasn't going to shut up. And, well, we got married, and now we're not together anymore.

01:06:27 - 01:06:29 | Speaker 1:

If you didn't want to be married, why would you say yes?

01:06:31 - 01:06:45 | Speaker 4:

I didn't want the relationship to end. And I didn't, like, honestly, I think if we had never gotten married, it wouldn't have ended. But I never wanted to be married. Like, my whole life, I just never wanted to be married.

01:06:45 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 3:

Were any of the times that you said no in a public place where people saw that you guys were being proposed to?

01:06:51 - 01:06:58 | Speaker 4:

i mean not that i noticed but there were a couple times where we were like out to eat and stuff so

01:06:58 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 3:

maybe yeah wow um katie same thing with you was it ever a public proposal that uh that you said

01:07:05 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 4:

no to you know he never really publicly but we got together in january of 19 and then like everything was perfect for a year and covid really did a number to our relationship so it's been a rough three years and then on new year's eve we were at um the vintage house and i proposed to him

01:07:27 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 3:

oh he did i proposed to him and did he say yes yeah he said yes we're getting married february 22nd yay he should have said no just to get back at you for your nose this is pretty wild Jodi, are you there? Yes, I'm here. You said no to a proposal, and then you guys left?

01:07:50 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 4:

We went to Disneyland the next day. Like, it was already pre-planned, pre-bought. How awkward was that trip? It was a very long day. We tried really hard to, like, you know, kind of make it closer. Like, we were still friends and stuff. But, like, we also lived together, like, back in Michigan. So, like, it was, like, when we got back from the trip, it was, like, I think I moved out, like, the next month. Oh, my goodness. Like, it was just, like, the weirdest day. Like, we tried really hard, but you could tell, like, he was really upset, and I was, like, I wasn't ready for it.

01:08:25 - 01:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That's where I'd want to go, though, if I just heard bad news. You know what I mean? I'd want to go to the happiest place on earth if I just heard bad news.

01:08:33 - 01:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, but not with the person that gave you the bad news. Yeah. Speaking of that, Allie, you worked at Disney, and you would witness this all the time? You would witness people that would say no to proposals?

01:08:45 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I used to work in Disney World, and I worked in Magic Kingdom, so I, like, worked right on Main Street East, and you could see, like, obviously during the fireworks show was a very popular time for people to propose. Yeah. And, of course, there's all the photographers there, and they see, like, the guy's getting ready or something and he'll let them know like hey can you make sure you get this on camera and then get down on the one knee and i think i've seen it at least three times then i know the girl had said no the woman had said no and my heart just broke through that oh my wait everyone's around you they're looking they're like excited for you to like oh my gosh it is just the most embarrassing awkward thing and the photographer is getting it all on camera you weren't laughing like you're laughing with us right now are you oh no no not at all do you know how people buy like

01:09:43 - 01:09:51 | Speaker 3:

ticket packages or uh uh photo yeah the photo packages does the photo package guy get that on

01:09:51 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 4:

um i know i've seen it before because i work sometimes in the photo packaging area where like you'd have to show them like what they could

01:10:00 - 01:10:14 | Speaker 6:

get yeah yeah yeah it's really i mean it's comical from my point of view not so sure from you know the guy proposing but um yeah no it happened quite often in the happiest place in

01:10:14 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 4:

the entire world gotta love that hey you just got proposed to and you said no you said no what are you gonna do next i'm going to no i'm not going to disney world i'm getting a churro yeah exactly

01:10:29 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Mexico at Epcot.

01:10:30 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call. Take care. Mojo in the morning. I had this conversation with Joe, Jed, and Ashley, which I thought was humorous. And it was the conversation about how everybody can remember, every guy can remember the first nipple that they ever saw live and in person. You know? Like every guy remembers that.

01:10:52 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 2:

This is such a you conversation if I've ever heard one.

01:10:55 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 4:

And in many cases, it was a nip slip. It wasn't like you're getting romantic with them. It was your first nipple that would come through. Oh, yours wasn't? Yours was actually a romantic nipple? No, no, no. Mine was an ope. It was a bathing suit moment. Oh, it was a bathing suit moment. Okay, yeah. Oh, the ope. Oh, I think he said nope. Oh, no, I said nope. Ope. Yes. Yeah, an ope moment. Well, I remember the very first one, and it was a bathing suit moment. It was Kathy Caliendo. That was my sister Pat, Aunt Pat's best friend growing up. And hers was her top came off in a swimming pool, and that was my first time that I ever saw a live boobie, live and in-person boobie. And then I asked this question, and I think that this would be a good topic for the air. Do women remember the first wiener that they see?

01:11:46 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 2:

Live wiener or just wiener?

01:11:48 - 01:11:59 | Speaker 4:

Do you remember the first live wiener? I love penises. It was so gross. Was it a romantic situation or was it a dope?

01:12:00 - 01:12:10 | Speaker 2:

No, it was a romantic situation. It was the guy that my high school boyfriend that I dated for seven plus years. Wait, he was the first one you saw? Yeah.

01:12:10 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 8:

That's awkward.

01:12:11 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 2:

Live? Yeah. Yeah. Honestly, I'll never forget. I think I just stared like that. What it looks like. Ew. I'm like, what am I supposed to do? Ew. I was like, I was not prepared at all.

01:12:27 - 01:12:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I know you are shocked. It was a little awkward. Yeah.

01:12:30 - 01:12:35 | Speaker 2:

I just remember thinking in my head, it's like, it's gross. Yeah.

01:12:36 - 01:12:45 | Speaker 8:

It's so funny because like everybody, everybody loves boobs. But as soon as you see your first ween, you're like, no, I take it back. I'm sorry.

01:12:46 - 01:12:49 | Speaker 4:

Megan, do you remember the first ween that you saw?

01:12:51 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 8:

I don't know. I'm trying to think. I don't think I had some specific moment.

01:12:56 - 01:12:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:12:57 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 8:

I don't know.

01:12:58 - 01:13:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. What was it? Think about this.

01:13:02 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 5:

Oh, baby. He was my first everything. I thought about him for so long. I lost this. Those memories are crystal clear. I was so young, he was so big and strong I can't believe that he's right here I was such an innocent girl When we first met

01:13:33 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 4:

This is your song that you sang when you saw that

01:13:35 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 5:

He opened up my eyes, showed me a whole new world

01:13:36 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 4:

Boyfriend's first swing

01:13:37 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 5:

So how could I ever forget The first penis I saw First penis, very first penis Why does this sound like an ABBA song? Hey, what's up, Cindy?

01:13:59 - 01:14:24 | Speaker 7:

Hi, good morning. Happy New Year. Happy New Year. So I remember the first penis, but I remember like the first five or six penises. Because I went to, my dad took us to the beach when we were little. We lived out of fate, and I couldn't find him on the beach, so I went through the men's stall or shower or whatever. Oh, boy. It's the worst.

01:14:25 - 01:14:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy.

01:14:26 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 7:

Full-grown men taking showers, and my eyes were, like, big as golf balls. Yeah.

01:14:33 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 1:

Just showering with the – Mojo, give her the – do we have the dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig?

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if we have the drop.

01:14:41 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

01:14:42 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Her experience going through the locker room Hold on, I think I got it I think I got it, is this it? You dick! He was kind of a dick We have a lot of those, don't we? I got a lot of penis Sorry about that

01:14:58 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

Wow, that's the worst

01:15:00 - 01:15:27 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I have to tell you something. Men's locker rooms are the worst. I think that might be the first live D other than mine that I saw was when my dad took me to the Riviera Country Club Health Club. I walked in, and they were all getting into the hot tub naked. And my dad's like, would you like to take a hot tub with me and my friends? And I'm like, sure. And they're all naked. I'm like, yeah. I don't want to see a bunch of guys and their Ds hanging low. What's going on? Jessica.

01:15:29 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 5:

Hey. Yeah, so my first penis that I saw, it was very horrible because I was, it was the summer after my junior year, I had gotten into a summer camp and it was art-based. So, one of the classes was life drawing class. Yeah. And so, yeah, the life drawing class was live models.

01:16:02 - 01:16:05 | Speaker 4:

And how old were you when you saw the nude model?

01:16:06 - 01:16:08 | Speaker 5:

I was probably about 17.

01:16:08 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:16:09 - 01:16:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you must have a very big penis. Yeah, so this older man, older model, he was probably in his 40s, mid to late 40s. He walks up on the podium, drops his robe, and there it was. Wow, penis, so big. So big penis. And I actually have drawings to commemorate. He has a very big penis.

01:16:38 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, it's so nice to remember.

01:16:42 - 01:16:45 | Speaker 4:

You never forget your first, especially when you frame it and put it on your wall.

01:16:45 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 5:

All right. I think that tucked away in the closet.

01:16:49 - 01:17:31 | Speaker 2:

sophistication intellect culture engaging discussion you won't find any of that here that last conversation proves it this is mojo in the morning call mojo in the morning 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 mojo in the morning show

01:17:31 - 01:17:37 | Speaker 3:

so you were uh getting some uh film developed uh in that film developed what are you doing

01:17:37 - 01:17:53 | Speaker 1:

i printed some pictures off my phone um and i do it on the like the walgreens app it's super easy and so they're ready in like you know an hour like what more often i hang them in your house photos yeah because i i haven't updated the photos and the frames in my house in forever so i was

01:17:53 - 01:18:04 | Speaker 3:

like oh i still have the family that's supposed to be the nice family that's in them they're always i actually be honest with you i find them to be much more attractive than the family that i live

01:18:04 - 01:18:37 | Speaker 1:

with so well i was it was like something on my to-do list i checked it off i printed off the photos i'd go to the walgreens to pick up the stuff and when i get home i open up the little package to start putting stuff in frames and i'm like that's not my mom those aren't my kids that's definitely not me although she's cute but it was a young couple who apparently had gone on a trip to a what looked like a very nice warm weather vacation and there they were posing on the beach and there were some selfies of them getting ready in their hotel room was like the

01:18:37 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 3:

do they have a thing with the name like your name was on my name was on the thing oh okay yeah but

01:18:42 - 01:18:45 | Speaker 1:

I just put them in the wrong end. And I didn't check them in the store. My fault.

01:18:45 - 01:18:57 | Speaker 3:

The last times that I've ever developed film, which has been a long time ago, they'll always have the first photo be the person like you so you can see it. They'll have the packaging with doing it.

01:18:57 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 1:

You mean on the outside of the packaging?

01:18:58 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like the outside of the packaging. Maybe they don't do it for legal purposes anymore.

01:19:03 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was sealed with a sticker of my name. So I had bought a few other things. I didn't open it until I got home. But I'm like, oh, this couple's really cute. I wonder if they got my family.

01:19:10 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 3:

They don't. But they won't do naughty pictures, will they? No.

01:19:16 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 4:

Well, if you're doing it yourself on the kiosk, they're not seeing. No, no.

01:19:19 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 1:

This wasn't the kiosk. It was from my phone.

01:19:21 - 01:19:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they have to handle it to print it. They will not. There's places that have let it slip through, but most of them will flag it.

01:19:28 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 1:

Have you ever printed off naughty photos?

01:19:30 - 01:19:37 | Speaker 3:

No, but I'm wondering if you got somebody's wrong photos and all of a sudden you got somebody's, you know.

01:19:37 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 1:

Well, as I'm going through the photos, I'm like, oh, I mean, I hope that these are all.

01:19:41 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

you know getting ready for i always ask that and um when i would print my photography and stuff and they have stories about like busting child predators and stuff really yeah people will so stupid these dummies will print miners naked and stuff or like things like they're

01:20:00 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 3:

These people are disturbed, and the staff calls the police on them, so they catch them.

01:20:06 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Did I tell you guys? Oh, my God. I've got to tell you the funniest story.

01:20:11 - 01:20:14 | Speaker 3:

You know it's going to be good when he slams his fist, by the way. This is a funny story.

01:20:14 - 01:20:56 | Speaker 4:

So we went and visited. Jed's parents moved down to Tampa, too. And so with Jed, Joe, and Ashley, when they went down there to the show, Jed's parents moved down there, those lucky bastards. And we got a chance to meet some of their neighbors. And one of their neighbors is a dude that's from Ontario. And he is married to, he is in his 60s. And he's married to a woman who is 27 years old. Oh. And not only is she 27 years old, she is 27 years old and she has braces. When I first saw.

01:20:56 - 01:20:57 | Speaker 3:

Braces, braces, not Invisalign?

01:20:57 - 01:21:06 | Speaker 4:

No, like braces. Like silver braces. Yeah, like, well, I don't, she's, I, when she smiled, I think she actually had colors in there. I think there was a color. The color rubber band. Yeah, but, yeah.

01:21:06 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 3:

I loved the color rubber band.

01:21:07 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 4:

So, I actually almost made the mistake, and Jed stopped me. I almost made the mistake of saying, oh, this is this guy's daughter. Like, you know, you know, because you look at them, and they're so, so, you know, difference in age. Do you know that the guy was on a flight, a Delta Airlines flight, flying back from here? and security pulled them aside in Atlanta because they thought that he was trafficking on a girl. Oh, no. That's how different in age these guys are. So they pulled them off. They missed their flight from Atlanta to Tampa, and they pulled them off the flight, and they questioned because they thought that he was trafficking, and it turned out it was his wife. That's how different the thing is. I digress on that. Isn't that wild? Yeah. Could you imagine? So Jedediah says to me, he goes, every one of my friends that comes over, they meet him because I think his name is Wally. He's like, neighbor, you know, my neighbor, Wally, you know, whatever. Of course his name is Wally. He's like, but don't say anything about and don't do any weird things and stuff like that. The whole time, that's all I could do. My mouth wide open. I'm like, that guy is 60 something years old and he's with a 20 something years old.

01:22:26 - 01:23:10 | Speaker 2:

like uh what's going on janelle it's danelle um danelle i'm sorry yeah no you're good uh happy new year guys happy new year i just wanted to comment on the wrong pictures or i used to work at rite aid and one time back when they were developing film the old way we had a role come And it was nothing But I don't know if they were having A wild party But we had a whole roll Of dirty pictures Some of the pictures I was like When I handed it to the people I was like we can't develop these ever again

01:23:10 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 4:

Could you imagine if Shannon would have gotten those?

01:23:14 - 01:23:20 | Speaker 2:

Oh my god She probably would have painted On some of the pictures that I saw

01:23:20 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second Did you say see Ted?

01:23:22 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 2:

Fainted, yes Oh, fainted I thought you said Yeah, I heard something too

01:23:30 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was like

01:23:31 - 01:23:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay

01:23:33 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 2:

You are obsessed with shit

01:23:35 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 4:

Thank you for the call, I appreciate it

01:23:41 - 01:23:44 | Speaker 2:

You're welcome You guys have a great day You too

01:23:44 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 1:

If you answered awesome to the question How are you doing today? You're either drunk, practicing your sarcasm or you're about to go on vacation. Welcome to... This is Mojo in the Morning. How many quality questions can we get to? It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning. Hello.

01:24:04 - 01:24:58 | Speaker 3:

Hi, this is Mr. Bob Dabalina calling from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. We got your census in the mail that you filled out for us earlier this year. And the last page wasn't filled out. The back had three questions that were left blank. It's a common mistake. Just wondering if we could just run through them really quickly. It'd take about 30 seconds. All right, make it quick. I'm on my way out the door. Okay. Just wondering if you buy or lease your car. I lease it. And are you afraid to fall asleep for fear of a hedgehog eating your brain while you sleep? Uh, no. Come on. This is not the Census Bureau. This is the Senseless Bureau, and it'll just take about 30 more seconds here just to the last two questions. Armed with nothing but feather dusters, who would win in a tickle fight? Hugh Jackman, Will Smith, or The Rock? Come on, are you kidding me? Just need your answer on that one. You need my answer on that one. Who are the contestants again? Hugh Jackman, Will Smith, or The Rock?

01:24:58 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

Uh...

01:25:00 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 4:

Uh, The Rock.

01:25:01 - 01:25:03 | Speaker 3:

And who's your favorite astrophysicist?

01:25:04 - 01:25:06 | Speaker 1:

Dude, last question. I gotta go.

01:25:06 - 01:25:10 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever wake up and say, you know what? F*** it, I'm not swearing today.

01:25:10 - 01:25:18 | Speaker 4:

All right, take it easy. That's all you're going to get. I didn't think you were going to have that guy answer one question. He didn't seem like he was into it.

01:25:19 - 01:25:25 | Speaker 1:

Want more senseless surveys? I don't love a podcast now. Hear endless podcasts at mojointhemorning.com.

01:25:26 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 4:

For Mojo! Mike Shannon! from Mojo in the morning! Oh, my God, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Wait till you hear what ruined the mood for Shannon and her boyfriend. Which, by the way, I think it's safe to talk about this right now. And I think that if we talk about it now, you've got to do us a favor. You've got to participate after you hear the thing that ruined the mood. Because I think this is more common than we know.

01:26:21 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 2:

Please make me feel better. So I have this little, as Mojo calls him, a little yappy dog. Which is funny because Mojo has the same exact two dogs Purse puppies Yes he's a little teeny tiny Seven pound poodle Well my little teeny tiny Seven pound poodle Charlie Who is going to be 13 years old this week By the way Has the worst breath on the face of my earth I'm talking like Like not Like all dog breaths is bad This is It's like it makes my teeth hurt When I even think about it, it's so bad. And so last week I had taken him to the vet because he was having like a little tummy issue. And the vet said to me, you need to make an appointment for him to get his teeth cleaned. And it's a big production for these little dogs a lot of times because like he has to be put under. And that's how they have to clean his teeth. Traumatizing to them. It's traumatizing to me too because I hate every time they put him under. I'm so scared that he's not going to wake up. So I'm like, all right, well. So I try to make this appointment to get the dog's teeth cleaned. They're booked out a month and a half. I'm like, great. So now my dog is going to continue to have this breath. It's to the point where even at Thanksgiving, I was so embarrassed to have him in the house because he walks into a room and you can smell this dog's breath. It's that bad. I'm not. The dog is so tiny. This is not an exaggeration.

01:27:41 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 4:

How can something so smelly come out of such a small little thing?

01:27:44 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you just ask anybody who was at my house for Thanksgiving. They all smelled it. Or ask Wes. Poor doggy. Last night, we're baking cookies, and I'm trying to describe this in a way that is appropriate for the radio. I was laying on my bed, like, kind of halfway off my bed at this point in the cookies process, and Charlie has a little bed on the floor of my bed, and so he was there, and all of a sudden, Wes and I are, like, you know, doing our thing, and the cookies are almost done, and all of a sudden we both just start gagging because the dog must have yawned or something.

01:28:23 - 01:28:26 | Speaker 4:

Wait, the dog was a little not entertained.

01:28:27 - 01:28:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, the dog's mouth opened to the point where we both smelled the breath and we were just like gagging so bad. Totally killed the mood.

01:28:37 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 4:

And there's nothing worse than when you are fully exposed and doing fun things to have a smell come out. And he's like, what is that?

01:28:46 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 2:

And I'm like, it's Charlie's breath. Just ignore it. But we both couldn't ignore it. It was horrible. I was so embarrassed.

01:28:52 - 01:29:13 | Speaker 4:

I hear all the time people that will tell stories, and they're funny, and I know I listen, so I have them, where the dogs have ruined the mood for you. And you have to call us up and tell us your best story of how the dog ruined the mood, because that would be a total mood killer right there if all of a sudden you start smelling this god-awful stank, huh?

01:29:14 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 2:

And it's bad.

01:29:14 - 01:29:20 | Speaker 4:

Have you tried – Chelsea gives Henry and Louis these little green things that every morning – Greenies? Yes.

01:29:20 - 01:29:22 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't like them. Really? He's never liked them.

01:29:22 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 4:

They actually do make your breath smell a little better. They're almost like breath mints.

01:29:26 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. He's never liked them. I don't know.

01:29:29 - 01:29:34 | Speaker 4:

They're kind of – I don't know what the – When someone needs a breath mint. Yeah.

01:29:34 - 01:29:42 | Speaker 2:

It's like – remember that guy that used to work at the radio station in the promotions department? Yes, I do. Imagine that times 10, and that's my dog's breath right now.

01:29:43 - 01:29:46 | Speaker 4:

Poor guy. He had the worst halitosis ever

01:29:46 - 01:29:50 | Speaker 3:

It was obviously a medical condition Like nobody else has it that bad

01:29:50 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 4:

It was so funny because

01:29:51 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 2:

He would fuck in the room And we would all take a deep breath To just hold our breath

01:29:57 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 4:

You didn't hear him or see him

01:30:00 - 01:30:10 | Speaker 2:

You smell him. That's my dog. He would walk in. You kind of do. That's kind of nice, though, that you don't ever lose Charlie. You know what I mean? Like, you kind of, you know.

01:30:10 - 01:30:11 | Speaker 5:

You know where he's at.

01:30:11 - 01:30:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly. Oh, Charlie must be around. All right, Mojo on the Morning Show. Okay. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. How did the dog or cat or animal, whatever, ruin the mood? Ashley, real quick, Ashley, I've got to ask you a question. Yeah. If you can, keep it as clean as possible. So, like baking cookies, stuff like that, you know, little euphemisms. Go ahead.

01:30:42 - 01:30:49 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so my boyfriend and I were baking cookies, and my dog came up and licked my boyfriend's cookies.

01:30:49 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, wait a second. Really? The front cookie or the back cookie?

01:30:57 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 4:

No, it's a bat cookie. Oh, no. Oh, man.

01:31:02 - 01:31:08 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask a question? Did he know it was the dog right away?

01:31:09 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he jumped up and creeped.

01:31:14 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 2:

Is the dog on the bed with you guys, or where were you guys?

01:31:18 - 01:31:20 | Speaker 3:

We were on the couch.

01:31:20 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a place easy for them to get to, right? I wonder if the dog must have thought that you guys were wrestling or just having some fun.

01:31:27 - 01:31:33 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. She jumped up, and all of a sudden, I heard him scream, and that's all I know.

01:31:35 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 2:

That is fantastic. Oh, God, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. You're welcome. My favorite texter is, I can't go on the air with you guys right now. 734 sends this in. Can't go on the air with you guys right now, but every time that my husband and I try to bake cookies, our dog knows it. It makes a horrible howling sound, waking the entire house up.

01:32:00 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 5:

It's nice. You know, it's cookie time in the neighborhood.

01:32:04 - 01:32:08 | Speaker 2:

Another one here. Everybody's talking about your dog, Charlie, and the gingivitis that Charlie has.

01:32:08 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's got something for sure. The last time, you know, because these little dogs, you have to do this frequently. So I think I do it. I can't remember if I do it every year or every other year. But he had to get like a tooth or two pulled. I felt so bad. I felt like the worst dog ever. Do you get down and brush his teeth? He will not. These little dogs, they just clamp their mouths shut. You can't.

01:32:25 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 2:

There you go. 216 says, can't go on the air. I'm working. Otherwise, it would be hilarious. My hubby and I were doing a little something, something, and our dog got on the bed and peed on my husband.

01:32:40 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 5:

Marking territory.

01:32:43 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 2:

Sierra, what's happening?

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

01:32:47 - 01:32:48 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

01:32:48 - 01:32:52 | Speaker 3:

I have a story about a dog ruining my moment.

01:32:52 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

01:32:54 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 3:

I was having fun with an ex of mine. And we're just having fun. And all of a sudden, the dog busted open the door, comes running in, jumps on the bed. Next thing I know, his mom followed in.

01:33:13 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Oh, no. Wait, no. So you guys, how old were you guys?

01:33:18 - 01:33:19 | Speaker 3:

We were probably in our 20s.

01:33:19 - 01:33:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. So you guys were trying to be sneaky away from your boyfriend's mom, and the dog ended up busting through the room.

01:33:29 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 3:

Well, imagine this, though. This is the first time I met his mom.

01:33:32 - 01:33:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. Oh, no.

01:33:37 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 3:

That was different.

01:33:39 - 01:33:41 | Speaker 2:

Nice to meet you. What do you do in that case?

01:33:41 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 5:

Do you put clothes on first, or do you just pull the blanket up? What do you do?

01:33:44 - 01:33:56 | Speaker 3:

uh i was kind of just frozen with him on top of me oh man i was at least covered but no that was

01:33:56 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 2:

about it that's such an embarrassing moment there thank you for the call uh i love the texter that says uh every time that my husband and i try to bake cookies our dog tries to get in between us and just lay there looking at us and then the problem is that with this is if you try to move your dogs out of the room when they're normally used to being with you guys in your room then they get really like crazy anxious and they don't know exactly what's going on which yes i mean

01:34:23 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 1:

that's like a whole other part of our problem is when it's just me at my house charlie sleeps in

01:34:28 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 2:

bed with me yeah so has charlie ever been uh jealous of wes of your boyfriend um i don't think

01:34:35 - 01:34:41 | Speaker 1:

so like he's cool in his little bed on the floor too but he yeah he kind of stares at me like why

01:34:41 - 01:34:48 | Speaker 2:

am i down here and he's up there amy you say that you think your dog's shaming you is what's going

01:34:48 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

on oh yes what's going on so he will be in his bed in the bedroom and we will be out on the couch baking cookies and he will walk

01:35:00 - 01:35:06 | Speaker 2:

out of the bedroom and just come and stare at us while we're on the couch just with a look of disgust.

01:35:10 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 4:

How could you?

01:35:12 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 2:

Do you ever have two dirty

01:35:14 - 01:35:15 | Speaker 6:

mom and dad?

01:35:16 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if there are any people that are fearful of getting naked in front of their animals because they're knowing that their animals are looking at them in such a weird way. That would be funny. Great calls. Thank you guys so much. We appreciate it. It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

01:35:29 - 01:35:36 | Speaker 1:

A note to Mojo's little yippee dogs. Don't piss him off. He could eat you. Get in my belly. This is Mojo in the morning.

01:35:42 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 4:

You guys, I want to ask you guys a quick question about going to the grocery store or wherever you should shop, Costco's or, you know, whatever. And I want to ask you, who is more annoying? Because I had an experience when I was at the store recently. I want to know, who is the more annoying shopper? Is it the a-hole that leans on their cart and slow walks through every single aisle as you're right behind them trying to pass? I'm right here. Don't talk about me like that. Or the stop in the middle of the aisle guy and just pretend like nobody is around you either coming forward or coming behind.

01:36:26 - 01:36:27 | Speaker 7:

For sure slow out there.

01:36:27 - 01:36:28 | Speaker 4:

Which one is the worst one?

01:36:28 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 7:

Slow walker. The slow walker is, yes. Because you know what I do to the stop in the middle of the aisle guy? I very politely just move their cart over to the side to get them up.

01:36:37 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 4:

But what if they're touching their cart? You move their cart while they're touching their cart?

01:36:40 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 7:

I do my beep, beep, beep. You know I'm a mom. I'm coming through.

01:36:44 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 4:

You have your own little horn that goes off? Move. The guy who leans on the cart, you know who the guy is?

01:36:49 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm a slow walker, but I stay to one side. Yeah. I stay to one side as I browse every aisle.

01:36:55 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but if both sides are full and we're stuck behind slow walker, then-

01:36:59 - 01:37:03 | Speaker 3:

I'm still moving. I didn't stop in the middle of the aisle. Yeah, but I have places to be. Yeah, it's harder to get around.

01:37:04 - 01:37:10 | Speaker 4:

And the funny thing is that it's usually the people that have the smaller carts, you know, the ones that are-

01:37:10 - 01:37:11 | Speaker 7:

I like those small carts.

01:37:11 - 01:37:31 | Speaker 4:

The small carts that are supposed to be easier for you to get up and down the aisles that are the ones that are the biggest pains in the asses. You know what I mean? Like those, it's not like the person who's got the children in the cart with the kids that the kids can sit in. Or like the race car cart, you know, they have at grocery stores.

01:37:31 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 6:

Those people are always in the middle. Are you kidding me? Their kids with their grubby little hands are trying to grab all the cereal boxes off of the aisles.

01:37:35 - 01:37:42 | Speaker 7:

Do you know how heavy those things are to push? Like you legit get a full body workout when you push one of those things.

01:37:43 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Right. That's why I'm trying to move quick through the aisles because my kids are hanging on the bottom of the cart, on the top of the cart. They're not sitting in the seat.

01:37:50 - 01:37:57 | Speaker 7:

My kid, Smith, lays on the bottom of the cart, and that's how I grocery shop with him, with his feet sticking out the ends.

01:37:57 - 01:38:07 | Speaker 6:

There's nothing better. The last time I was at the grocery store, the kid was in the front seat, but laying with his head out the side and his feet out the side. He's like, I don't want to be here, Dad. And I had never related to a kid more.

01:38:07 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 4:

Have you ever had it, Megan, when you go into the store? I don't know, we're at Kroger or whatever in the Toledo area.

01:38:13 - 01:38:16 | Speaker 6:

Well, it's Kroger's because we're from the Midwest. Kroger's, yes.

01:38:16 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 4:

have you ever gone in and the only cart that is remaining is the shopping cart race cart thing the parent cart and you as a single woman has to pull pull that thing around i may or may not have

01:38:29 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 6:

been drunk before at a kroger's at like wow midnight and crawled into one of those at age like 23 and got stuck so i avoid those like the plague now because i had to have an employee help

01:38:41 - 01:39:15 | Speaker 4:

me get out of one and that was embarrassing how about the the the motorized rascal scooter people uh do those people you know the ones that have like the the i guess the the handicapped uh spot what do they call those carts the uh help me uh scooters right yeah the scooter things that go around i think anybody can use them too right well i mean technically anyone can use them but you should probably not use them if you don't need to use it you know all right you know what i mean Like, Mike, you should probably not use it. I got you. What's up? Hi.

01:39:15 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 2:

My 44-year-old wife has to use those scooters when we go shopping. She has a hard time walking.

01:39:21 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:39:21 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 2:

My favorite thing to do is I'm walking behind her, pushing the cart. She's driving. People will walk in front of her and they'll be, watch out. She's been drinking. She'll run you down.

01:39:32 - 01:39:44 | Speaker 4:

That's awesome. That, by the way, those things can get fast. There was a guy that was pulling in the parking lot With one of those things And I was like, holy cow, that thing is like cooking I couldn't believe that

01:39:44 - 01:39:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah

01:39:46 - 01:39:51 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Matt? How you doing? Hi, Matt

01:39:51 - 01:40:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, hey I was just going to make a comment It's not just the slow walkers that piss you off It's the little old ladies that've been over their cars Well, You're stuck, and they rip ass, and then you're stuck in it, and you can't get through. A little senior citizen crop-dusting aisle five. Exactly.

01:40:10 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 3:

You're right. Those are the worst.

01:40:12 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. God forbid you've got to bend over and get the pancake mix on the bottom shelf. Exactly.

01:40:19 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 1:

I had an older lady that was at the store right before Christmas, and she coincidentally was on almost every aisle I was in, asked me to help her get stuff off of the counters and stuff because she said she couldn't reach them. And then I started realizing I was this woman's personal Instacart person. But it was so cute. It was like my own personal grandma doing this. And after a while, I thought I was getting played, and maybe this woman could reach some of the stuff that was on the aisles. Our boss, Tony, I've heard, is the lean-on-the-card guy. that he'll like...

01:40:58 - 01:40:59 | Speaker 3:

I can totally see him doing this.

01:40:59 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 1:

Do you guys know that Tony goes to Sam's Club and Costco like multiple times a week?

01:41:06 - 01:41:08 | Speaker 2:

For what? Well, I used to do that for Costco.

01:41:08 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 1:

For anything. Like he goes, he just goes there. I think he goes there to kill...

01:41:12 - 01:41:13 | Speaker 3:

But don't you go like once a month to just stock up? Yeah.

01:41:14 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, no, but maybe twice or three times a month because it's not necessarily stocking up. That's true. They might have new things out. I don't know what I need until I get there.

01:41:22 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 1:

He's obsessed with it. Like he goes there and he buys like couches and things like that.

01:41:27 - 01:41:30 | Speaker 3:

See, this is why I cannot be a Costco or Sam's Club member.

01:41:30 - 01:41:31 | Speaker 1:

Because you would become addicted to it?

01:41:31 - 01:41:34 | Speaker 3:

It would become my target. I would just walk around and buy things I don't need.

01:41:34 - 01:41:40 | Speaker 1:

But it doesn't save you money because you're a minimum of $100 going into the place. What's up, Allison?

01:41:41 - 01:41:58 | Speaker 5:

Hi. I used to work at Kroger. And the worst is that we had an older lady and her riding thing died in the back of the store. So as an employee, we had to drive it through the whole store, getting dirty looks, and then drag the dead one all the way back to the front of the store.

01:41:59 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. Wow. They don't have, like, little tow trucks for those things.

01:42:03 - 01:42:06 | Speaker 5:

Right. Or just, you know, plugs that are in the back of the store.

01:42:08 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, where are you at right now? What's that noise? What's that?

01:42:11 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 5:

My son.

01:42:12 - 01:42:13 | Speaker 1:

Wow, that's your kid?

01:42:14 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:42:15 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Is that a toy or is that him yelling?

01:42:17 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 5:

No, that is him. That's his gremlin noise.

01:42:20 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 2:

Wow, that sounds like such a pleasant ride.

01:42:22 - 01:42:24 | Speaker 1:

Can we hear it one more time? Can we hear it again?

01:42:27 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 5:

Whoa.

01:42:28 - 01:42:30 | Speaker 1:

Wait, is he doing it to be cute?

01:42:30 - 01:42:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's doing it just to make noise. Like, he doesn't talk. He's only, like, nine months old.

01:42:37 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 1:

Okay, how much Tylenol a day do you take?

01:42:41 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I wish I could take more.

01:42:46 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 1:

Take care. Have a good day. What's up? Wait, is this Renna? Are Renna calling again?

01:42:52 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 4:

No, it's not. Oh, okay. I'm another Chaldean Renna.

01:42:56 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 1:

Okay. The other Renna. Do you mind being called the other Renna? What's going on?

01:43:01 - 01:43:30 | Speaker 4:

Hey, no problem. I was at Meijer a couple months ago, and there was this lady, and I've seen her at Meijer a couple times. She was a little bit of a year set, so I understand why she's using the scooter. But she had her teen daughter, who was maybe 12 or 13 years old, using another scooter in the aisles together. So slow. And then the girl gets off the scooter, tries to get whatever they need, the groceries, and then she comes back. So she leaves the scooter, walks around, and comes back.

01:43:32 - 01:43:38 | Speaker 1:

Did the daughter need a scooter, or was she doing it just to be with her mom?

01:43:40 - 01:43:42 | Speaker 4:

Because, you know, it's cool to drive a scooter, I guess.

01:43:43 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, so it's just for fun.

01:43:44 - 01:43:53 | Speaker 4:

So he clearly could get up and walk and just for fun. And at one point, I got exhausted, and I was like, you know, can you guys stay in one lane? Can we get past you?

01:43:53 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. By the way, I'm told that they're not called scooters. Everybody's texting us saying that they're called Amigos.

01:43:59 - 01:44:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I didn't know they had an actual, like, name. Oh, I didn't know that.

01:44:01 - 01:44:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's the name for those things that they have in the stores. Yeah, that would probably annoy the crap out of me if it's a family affair and they're driving around acting like a-holes inside the store. Hi, Ciara.

01:44:14 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 6:

Hi. I'm calling because I was at Aldi one time with my two kids in my cart, and I was shopping, and someone moved my cart out of the way with my kids, and they grabbed it while I was still holding on to it to move it out of the way. Oh, no.

01:44:29 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 3:

Depends on the day, though. Some days I'd be like, thank you. I needed that break, too.

01:44:34 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 1:

The gloves come off at that point, though.

01:44:35 - 01:44:46 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I yelled at the guy for touching my cart, And he didn't understand why I was upset. I'm like, my kids are in here. I had a newborn baby and then a toddler in there.

01:44:46 - 01:44:53 | Speaker 1:

How can you do that and not think that you're going to face some kind of a ramification of touching a cart, you know?

01:44:53 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 6:

I don't think it crossed his mind what he was doing. I think he was just, he needed to get to where he wanted to reach to.

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 4:

He just grabbed my cart, just not even thinking.

01:45:02 - 01:45:25 | Speaker 2:

Wow. That's, yeah. I would, I'd be afraid that you could get, you know, prosecuted for something like that. Touching somebody's cart with their children in it. Kyle is a shipped shopper. I bet you, you see a lot of annoying stuff. Matter of fact, you guys are probably the annoying people in the stores. Do you guys think that the Instacart people and the shipped shoppers and stuff could be a little annoying as they're racing through the stores, just trying to get the orders done?

01:45:25 - 01:45:46 | Speaker 6:

I haven't had that experience. No? Not really as much. It's just more of the actual customers in the store that, like, they'll put their cart on one side of the aisle, and then they'll stare at five different items on the other side and just take their time. Or if you need something on one side, they park their cart right there, right where you need it, every single time.

01:45:46 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 2:

So you guys have to go through the store. What's the quickest that you've gotten through a store for an order?

01:45:52 - 01:46:05 | Speaker 6:

um depending on the size of the order uh probably the one biggest orders i've done is probably about 80 items i've done it probably about in the checkout probably about 25 30 minutes dude this

01:46:05 - 01:46:20 | Speaker 2:

is unbelievable that's that's pretty cool because i i go shopping just for my list that chelsea gives me and she hates sending me to the store because i'm always coming back with stuff that i wasn't on the list but that's amazing that you're able to get through in and out as fast as you are

01:46:21 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 6:

Well, I've been doing it for about three years, so I basically know Meijer's like the back of my hand. Oh, I bet you do.

01:46:26 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 2:

All right, question. What aisle, what aisle, because you guys ship shop also at Target, right?

01:46:34 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:46:35 - 01:46:39 | Speaker 2:

What aisle are the women's female devices, the...

01:46:39 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 6:

Devices. The dildos. Oh, oh.

01:46:42 - 01:46:45 | Speaker 2:

What aisles are those in? Because we found out that they carry those there.

01:46:45 - 01:46:54 | Speaker 6:

if you're going for a mire or target wixom i think probably about a49 a49 so you know

01:46:54 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 2:

because we learned this morning on our show it's the biggest new revelation that we've had in 2022 that they carry adult devices at target target i've had to pick them up at both mire and

01:47:08 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. People do Shipt for that? Yes, they do. And I have actually had. Shannon!

01:47:15 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, I have not. Wait, wait, say that again.

01:47:21 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 6:

The most embarrassing part is when they're out of stock, you're going to get to offer something to you.

01:47:29 - 01:47:32 | Speaker 4:

And then you've got to describe what they have.

01:47:32 - 01:47:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, dude, that's the best.

01:47:34 - 01:47:45 | Speaker 4:

I guess it makes sense because people are too embarrassed sometimes To buy that stuff on their own So they want to send another shopper to go get it Then they only have to be embarrassed by you When you show up on the doorstep Brilliant

01:47:45 - 01:47:52 | Speaker 6:

That's why there's contactless drop off God that's great

01:47:52 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to do this by the way You know what I'm doing I'm doing an Instacart order today And it's all adult stuff

01:47:59 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 3:

A sex toy Some veggie oil Some duct tape And a banana

01:48:04 - 01:48:08 | Speaker 2:

And then I'm going to send Chelsea to the door to go get it. Hey, Chelsea, do you want to marry me?

01:48:09 - 01:48:10 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

01:48:12 - 01:48:14 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Oh, no. I'm sorry. What's that? What was funny?

01:48:15 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 6:

I was going to tell Spike the most craziest one I've had is late night in commerce. I had convenience supplies, scrubbing gloves, and a tarp. Oh, boy. There was a murder. Oh, my God.

01:48:27 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 2:

Dude, that's unbelievable. All right, Kyle, take care of yourself.

01:48:32 - 01:48:38 | Speaker 1:

Just think of him as the idiot grocery bagger. Of the Channel 955 Supermarket. And he's a lot less offensive.

01:48:38 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:40 - 01:48:46 | Speaker 1:

Channel 955. This is the Midwest's number one morning show. And that's kind of sad. Mojo in the Morning.

01:48:47 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 4:

If I pass out, guys, it's from blood loss. So just keep an eye on me. If I start to look pale.

01:48:53 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, what happened to you? I saw a picture of your foot.

01:48:56 - 01:49:47 | Speaker 4:

Natalie's home from college. And this week she's sharing my shower. Because apparently my shower is better than her shower. and there's just womanly products everywhere but i almost died yesterday because i was in the shower and my window um i mean my elbow knocked her little lady leg razor off the shower caddy and onto the shower floor and i turned to see what the noise was i stepped right on her razor huge cut bleeding everywhere and i'm all by myself in my apartment so i had to sit my naked down the shower I thought I was gonna black out I was like oh my god it is bleeding like crazy oh my god I'm like applying pressure and I'm like what a horrible silly way to die they're gonna find my naked body well were you applying

01:49:47 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

pressure with just paper towels and toilets well with my palm and then I

01:49:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

reached and then I took the towel that I was gonna dry myself with so that's ruined what color towels do you have green well now red

01:50:00 - 01:50:01 | Speaker 2:

It's Christmas-y.

01:50:01 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 1:

It's Christmas-y, that's right, yeah.

01:50:03 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 2:

Those little cuts, though, are the ones that bleed and bleed and bleed and bleed and bleed.

01:50:07 - 01:50:13 | Speaker 1:

And it's on the arch of my foot, so it's never, it's like I have to walk. So it took me 10 minutes to get up the stairs this morning.

01:50:13 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 6:

Do you need stitches? Do you stitch it? I don't know.

01:50:16 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 1:

I probably should have, but I just wrapped it really tight. You got to get yourself a tetanage shot, right? Yeah. I wrapped it super tight and then taped it up, and I think I'm losing circulation in my toes. But I had to wear old, like, these are, like, 10-year-old shoes because my other shoes wouldn't fit. I couldn't get my foot in with the bandage.

01:50:36 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 6:

Why do your 10-year-old shoes fit you more, though? Did your feet shrink over time?

01:50:42 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 1:

No, that lace is, like, the old, like, the new ones. Oh, okay. You know how, like, all the new Nikes and stuff, they don't even have... They're slip-ons, yeah. Tongues and laces. Yeah, everything's slip-ons now.

01:50:52 - 01:50:55 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Wow. Oh, my God.

01:50:55 - 01:51:01 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if anyone else ever badly injured themselves getting ready in the morning and thought, well, this is how I die, but this is how.

01:51:02 - 01:51:05 | Speaker 6:

Where was Natalie at when you injured yourself on her razor?

01:51:06 - 01:51:16 | Speaker 1:

She was over gaming with her buddies and her boyfriend. So she would have come home, and she still wouldn't have recognized that you were. She would have come home and discovered my body. Or did. Or not noticed.

01:51:16 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 6:

It would have been the next day when she took a shower in her favorite shower.

01:51:21 - 01:51:33 | Speaker 1:

She just plops down on the couch and starts looking at TikTok for seven hours, And then she would notice me when she got hungry. Dad, can you make something for dinner? Where are you, Dad? Dad, why did you die? I'm hungry.

01:51:33 - 01:51:35 | Speaker 6:

Why are you taking such a long shower, Dad?

01:51:38 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 7:

She'd find you and be like, oh, I can't believe you were using my razor.

01:51:43 - 01:52:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, I actually thought about hiding it when I was sitting there for a second. I go, I'm going to hide it because if I pass out and if I die, I don't want her to feel guilty that it was like her razor. Really? You're thinking that much about it? goes through my mind i i never had to think about this before mojo but like when and i know the girls on the show like alan and megan can identify with this am i what am i well oh yeah i'm sorry and chen too well when you live alone and you i haven't lived alone in 25 years i don't think actually i've ever lived alone because i've always had college roommates parents everything else but when you live alone you start to worry about these little things like i have a chest pain before is like no big deal now you're like oh my god i'm gonna die alone and they're gonna find me in my pajamas and i was eating ice cream by the gallon well when ellen and i were talking about

01:52:29 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 3:

it it's even worse than that because then you calculate what day of the week it is so if it's a friday nobody's finding me till monday even like the time of day because if something happens

01:52:42 - 01:52:52 | Speaker 4:

at like 3 p.m when i'm home from work no one's gonna find out until 5 a.m the next day i literally counted hours before to be like if i bleed out am i gonna live so if you die you'd rather die

01:52:52 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 6:

at what 4 a.m or something oh yeah at least you find the body quickly yeah but what does it matter

01:52:58 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 5:

you're dead yeah because i want to smell i want to look cute for the coroner what position am i in

01:53:04 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 3:

when rigmarole is set in like it all plays in dude i want an open casket i want people to cry over my body i want to look pretty i take this a totally different direction than you guys do

01:53:15 - 01:53:26 | Speaker 6:

I take it to the point of Could you imagine at the funeral How many people would sit there and go He died on a razor in a shower What was he shaving Yeah what's the deal

01:53:26 - 01:53:33 | Speaker 1:

My main point isn't worried about how they're going to find my body Four days later my point is I want someone there to call 911 You need help like if you're alone

01:53:33 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 2:

You know what you need you need one of those things That goes around your neck You need one of those

01:53:41 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 3:

And then I also play into the Is my dog going to eat me if I'm here

01:53:45 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Well, if it's a holiday weekend, they're not going to be there for like six days. They'll be there for a while.

01:53:51 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 2:

My body will be gone. Like when you go to a hotel and there's a landline in the bathroom, that's what you need. So it's right there and you can pick it up and call.

01:53:59 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, I now take my cell phone everywhere with me. If I'm going to the bathroom, I take my cell phone. If I'm doing laundry, I put it on the dryer. For this reason? No, just in general. Like in case I get hurt, in case somebody breaks in, you know, whatever.

01:54:12 - 01:54:21 | Speaker 6:

All I keep thinking of is, for some reason, I keep going back to Spike's funeral and all of us sitting around going, he cut, he... He was shaving his legs with a lady's razor.

01:54:22 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 2:

There was so much about it. I knew it! Yeah, we didn't know.

01:54:26 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 7:

Somebody pulled up his pant leg, look.

01:54:29 - 01:54:34 | Speaker 2:

All of our suspicions confirmed. In death.

01:54:36 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 1:

I like to be probed. It's like when Elvis died on the toilet, like, from too much drugs. We're like, okay, yeah, that kind of fits He was like a big, fat, drug-abusing rock star Like, you expected that This you wouldn't expect

01:54:48 - 01:54:54 | Speaker 6:

Alright, so are you gonna get a shot today? Like, you should talk to a doctor about a tetanus shot

01:54:54 - 01:54:56 | Speaker 1:

I didn't even think about that until you said that Yeah, you're fine

01:54:56 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you say that You should at least ask

01:55:00 - 01:55:06 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever gotten a tetanus shot before? I don't know. I'm going to tell you something. If I have. I'm going to tell you a story. Ready?

01:55:07 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:55:07 - 01:55:35 | Speaker 3:

Friend of mine, guy grew up with, ended up stepping on a nail. All right. Yeah. It was a brand new nail just out of a box. Oh, really? Stepped on the nail, went about his business, didn't do anything about it, this whole thing. His foot was so infected by the thing, he almost lost his foot. Really? Yes. Because he got such an infection. His infection went from his foot all the way up his leg. I would at least ask a doctor about it.

01:55:35 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 5:

All right. Yeah, but the tetanus shot hurt so bad. I think I had one a few years ago. I got to check.

01:55:41 - 01:55:44 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Is that the one they give you in your actual shoulder?

01:55:45 - 01:55:47 | Speaker 5:

I remember tetanus hurt more than the other.

01:55:47 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 3:

Or is it the hip? I don't know. Listen, I think that-

01:55:50 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

I thought it was in my butt, but I could be wrong.

01:55:52 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 3:

We're focused on getting vaccinated. Let's focus on keeping your leg and stuff. Just get another shot, for God's sakes, or at least talk to a doctor about it.

01:56:01 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 5:

It's not like vitamins. You don't just double up and take more when you want.

01:56:04 - 01:56:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, I know, but listen, the one time you need it, think about it. And you say you got one a couple years ago. Do you remember hurting yourself this bad a couple years ago with bleeding?

01:56:13 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 5:

No, I think you're supposed to get one every 10 years, aren't you?

01:56:15 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so.

01:56:16 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you get a tetanus booster.

01:56:18 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You do?

01:56:19 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 6:

I think maybe you need to talk to a doctor. I thought you only got one when you...

01:56:23 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 3:

I only get it when I get injured.

01:56:25 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I got mine after my accident. Yeah.

01:56:27 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 5:

After the initial tetanus, the booster is recommended every 10 years. Whoa. Or whenever you have a puncture wound, blah, blah, blah.

01:56:34 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Or whenever you step on your daughter's razor in the shower. I like the idea, too, of Life Alert. Somebody look into Life Alert and see if we can do a trade for mention on that. Oh, I mean, that's what the phone is. No, but I think it's more funny for you having to wear that thing around your neck.

01:56:53 - 01:56:56 | Speaker 4:

I've fallen and I can't get up.

01:56:56 - 01:56:58 | Speaker 3:

Those were the greatest commercials, weren't they?

01:56:58 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 5:

They were on every commercial break when you'd get home from school.

01:57:00 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 6:

Can I tell you something, though? The old people that have those, they're too stubborn to even use them. I know. They don't even wear them. Shani's grin. I'll never forget this. She toppled her. She was trying to climb to reach the clothes that she hung on top of her washer and dryer. So she climbed, and she toppled the washing machine on top of her. Oh, my God. Instead of pushing her little button or whatever, she called Andrew because she didn't want my dad to know. She didn't want us to know.

01:57:24 - 01:57:26 | Speaker 3:

She called him from underneath the dryer?

01:57:27 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 6:

I don't know how she... Well, she carried her little cell phone with her everywhere. She had an actual little cell phone. And she called Andrew to come help her. Yeah, I got my parents' medical emergency bracelets.

01:57:37 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 5:

They would not wear those bracelets.

01:57:38 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 3:

Nurse Lauren on for Spike here. What's up, Nurse Lauren?

01:57:42 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. Good morning. One, I'm an OR nurse. and i see a lot of people get bad infections from the stupidest things so i would definitely keep an eye on it that we have to come in and like you said you can get an infection so bad

01:58:00 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 5:

it can like spread i'm on my henry ford my chart right now to see when my last tetanus

01:58:04 - 01:58:23 | Speaker 4:

you even if you get a tetanus every 10 years if you get injured depending on like how deep it is or how bad it is, they still might want to start you on antibiotics and or give you another booster that's not included in the 10-year. So I would definitely call your doctor and just follow up to make sure.

01:58:23 - 01:58:25 | Speaker 3:

Good advice. Thank you, Lauren.

01:58:25 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 4:

Of course. Have a good day, guys. Bye. Take care.

01:58:28 - 01:58:31 | Speaker 3:

Sean, what's going on, Sean?

01:58:32 - 01:58:40 | Speaker 2:

Good morning, guys. I'm sitting here dying in silence because nobody caught it, but I'm laughing because Megan goes, I thought it was in my butt.

01:58:41 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 3:

Why do you have to call in and say that? I'm going back and making that a drop, Sean. Thank you.

01:58:47 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 2:

You don't have to make it a drop. It was perfect.

01:58:50 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 1:

One of these days, karma's going to catch up to Spike for all his phone scams. But laugh at it anyway. It's this morning at 9.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:59:00 - 01:59:45 | Speaker 3:

So it's Mojo in the Morning show. Chelsea, I'm going to bring the story up because I think it's kind of funny. And anybody that has a son or men in their house can relate to this. So this past weekend, I went to Costco and they had a special on ring cameras. And it was like a pack of, I think it was four or five cameras. And I ended up compulsively buying it because we've been talking about, you know, putting a ring camera in. and I come home with it and Chelsea looked at me like how many ring cameras do we need? I think there's like five maybe five I don't know

01:59:45 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 5:

the packs in Costco they have between five and nine cameras so it depends I think I got a five pack it depends on if you want to do just indoor just outdoor or a combination of both

01:59:55 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

so I get compulsive when I walk into the store and they have

01:59:59 - 02:00:01 | Unknown:

You

02:00:00 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 6:

those up in the front that they have all you have to do is grab a piece of cardboard and bring it up to the store like for some reason i think the piece of cardboard but it was a good deal it was a really good deal on this stuff so i come home with it and i say chelis look what i got it's in this plastic container and i'm showing it to her and she thinks i'm crazy and wants me to take it back well then i get on this mission of where we're going to put all these things and she decides that one of the ring cameras is going to go outside the door of our bathroom because Luke, myself, Joe, and Jake were just recently home, have been peeing, she says, on the floor, on the toilet seat, on the walls. It goes everywhere, but it doesn't go inside of the toilet, and she's got to clean up pee. So she wants to find the culprit. Yeah, so her thing is, none of us will own up to it. So she'll say, who used this bathroom last? I don't know. Luke, I don't know. He's got a deeper voice than I do. And we never will admit that it's us doing it. So she wants to put the ring camera out there so that when she sees that the pee is there, she's going to go back to the camera and then see who walked in so she could bust them.

02:01:19 - 02:01:24 | Speaker 5:

and so you basically bought something that's gonna you're gonna incriminate yourself with

02:01:24 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 6:

pretty much because honestly is it you I'm gonna be honest with you I think it is me I need to take a pee pee because for some reason my my pee streams not as straight as it used to be like it like my I feel like there was at some point at some point what you got old I is that what it Thanks, Megan.

02:01:45 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 4:

When you get old, it's not as close to you?

02:01:49 - 02:01:56 | Speaker 1:

The pipes don't work as well. The vacuum seal is a little looser like an old Tupperware. Is it kinked?

02:01:56 - 02:01:57 | Unknown:

Is it kinked?

02:01:57 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 1:

There's a kink in the house. There's dribble. It's not. The stream isn't as forceful as it used to be, and it doesn't shut off to a complete. You ever have a sink that just drips a little?

02:02:10 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 4:

My shower is doing that right now.

02:02:11 - 02:02:12 | Speaker 1:

It's bothering me.

02:02:12 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 6:

You know, because it's old. It's bad. I know, it's awful So guys, this is gonna It's gonna happen, women have

02:02:19 - 02:02:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you can get that fixed, let me tell you

02:02:22 - 02:02:26 | Speaker 6:

I just did, I just did You got that client of yours, you sit on the horse What does it call you?

02:02:26 - 02:02:45 | Speaker 4:

Not a horse It looks like a horse saddle It's called Eurospot It's in Farmington Hills Do you have to have kids to do that? No, they have a lot of Megan, I'm not joking, they have a lot of younger women That just have the issue They pee a little bit or they keep peeing after they stand up from peeing. Okay.

02:02:45 - 02:02:51 | Speaker 2:

All right, because I genuinely was like, I thought this was supposed to be for women who have kids. I thought I wasn't supposed to be cursed with them.

02:02:51 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you something, to be for real? That has not happened since I had that treatment. I'm not joking. Wow, it really worked.

02:02:55 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, I may need to go sit on that thing on the horse. Hannah, what's up?

02:03:00 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 3:

I did not know that about peeing. Yeah, I have six brothers in my household and my father, and me and my mom are the only girls, and they have a designated bathroom, but they knew that I would get sick of it, So every once in a while, don't leave it open too long. And I'm saying this bathroom is so gross. My mom cleaned it because all my brothers were home for, like, Thanksgiving. And she's like, there's puke everywhere. They peed everywhere. And they're only here for a week. They have beers all over the shower.

02:03:26 - 02:03:44 | Speaker 6:

So it's a guy thing. We're not very good at taking care of bathrooms. It's gotten to a point where Chelsea had a long discussion with us and said that she wants us to sit down to pee. because she thinks that we'll be cleaner if we sit down instead of having to aim.

02:03:44 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 3:

Why do you pee sitting down? I don't think there's no convincing them.

02:03:50 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 1:

I'm really good at aiming, especially because I clean my own toilet. It's just the after. It takes twice as long because now I just got to hover and wait and just do the taps, make sure it's all done, make sure there's no residual. The taps. You can't put it away as quickly as you used to because sink might still drip. Megan you who does the toilet cleaning in your place because you live with a guy

02:04:16 - 02:05:00 | Speaker 2:

I do live with a guy I live with my brother and I force him to do it because you're right men are nasty now women have this weird rap about like public bathrooms being gross and no it dudes at home are 10 times worse than any female public restroom you leave your beard hair or other hairs in the sink and for some reason feel like it's totally acceptable to just leave a mother but god forbid i leave one hair on the side of the shower and you won't let it go for months but your little itty bitty hairs are everywhere your toothpaste is still left in the sink yeah you pee all over the the toilet seat and then you just put the seat down thinking that we won't notice it like What?

02:05:00 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, men are disgusting. Can I tell you what I saw my four-year-old do the other day? I about had a heart attack. We were at a public restroom. We were at a restaurant. And so it was not like a kid-friendly bathroom by any means, but I have to go to the bathroom with him. Obviously, he's only four. He took out his penis to pee and rested it on the toilet.

02:05:21 - 02:05:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. I screamed so loud. I think somebody came and knocked on the bathroom. I wish I could do that. I was like, you do not. Wouldn't that be great, Mike? I'll let your wiener touch the seat ever, ever, ever. That would feel so good. You know how great that would be to be able to do that? That would be awesome. No, why would that be great? He's so little and the toilet was so tall. I will hold you. I will hold you up so you can aim in.

02:05:43 - 02:05:50 | Speaker 2:

Picture that the toilet seat was clean and everything was clean. Did you imagine just walking up to a toilet and you could just place it on there?

02:05:50 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 1:

But I don't understand why. It's fine dangling. Why do we need to rest it?

02:05:54 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 5:

Alyssa, who is the peep-a-trader in your house?

02:05:58 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 8:

My son. He like pees all over the toilet And we just recently moved into a new place So now we both have our own bathroom And he comes up to me and he's like Well now that we have our own bathroom I can pee all over the toilet now

02:06:10 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 5:

How old is he?

02:06:12 - 02:06:14 | Speaker 8:

He is 10 Oh okay

02:06:14 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 5:

You were going to hope that you were going to say

02:06:15 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 1:

He's 35 Well no but once he's a teenager I feel like you need to make him clean their own bathroom And that will be the only way to teach them to aim

02:06:23 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 8:

Oh he's going to be cleaning his own bathroom now

02:06:26 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah sure you can pee wherever you want You're going to be cleaning it up.

02:06:30 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 5:

Dawn, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:32 - 02:06:41 | Speaker 7:

Good morning. My husband and son think it's because they're too tall and it splashes all over the place. So I tell them to sit down and tuck that thing in.

02:06:42 - 02:06:48 | Speaker 5:

That actually could be true, that they're peeing from a higher level. They're tall men. That might be my problem, too.

02:06:48 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, that's what they try to tell me anyway.

02:06:50 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 5:

Okay, thank you. Donnie says he can actually help me here. Donnie, what's that?

02:06:54 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, when you're training a child to pee, you throw a Cheerio in, and you make it a game for them to hit the Cheerio. And then as you start getting older, you start throwing two or three in, and you hit all three of them. I'm 65 now. I can throw one in the sink and over in the shower, and I can get them all, buddy.

02:07:15 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 5:

Donnie, I love it. We're going to play the Cheerio game at home. There you go.

02:07:20 - 02:07:49 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if you ever saw urinals that have the little bee. Have you ever seen the little honey bee that's printed on the white urinal? That's there for a reason. That is their small little engineering trick that could be spotted all over America today that improves cleanliness because they figured out psychologically guys want to pee on something. So if they put a little bee or a little target or maybe there's a logo on the little air freshener in there, it keeps guys peeing straight because it makes them concentrate.

02:07:50 - 02:07:52 | Speaker 5:

That's what I need. I need a Target. I finally figured it out.

02:07:52 - 02:07:53 | Speaker 1:

Mojo, take your Cheerios.

02:07:53 - 02:07:55 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea, forget the ring cam.

02:07:56 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 6:

Damn. It's so cold I can barely stand outside for the four minutes I'm outdoors every day. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:08:03 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 5:

So break up her makeup this morning. It just happened to her. So, Madeline, you were out yesterday with a friend of yours who just so happens to be the wife of one of your husband's former co-workers Yeah, that's right And you found out something very interesting about your husband And pick it up from there and tell us what happened

02:08:32 - 02:08:42 | Speaker 10:

Yeah, so I found out the real reason he was fired from his last job, and it was for sexually harassing a co-worker

02:08:42 - 02:08:45 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow How long ago was that?

02:08:46 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 10:

He was fired like eight, nine months ago

02:08:49 - 02:08:51 | Speaker 1:

Wow

02:08:51 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 10:

He said they were just like downsizing

02:08:53 - 02:08:55 | Speaker 1:

And you guys are married, you said?

02:08:56 - 02:08:56 | Speaker 10:

Yeah

02:08:56 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 1:

How long have you been married?

02:08:58 - 02:08:59 | Speaker 9:

Seven years

02:08:59 - 02:09:03 | Speaker 1:

So this incident happened while you guys were married. Yeah.

02:09:04 - 02:09:06 | Speaker 9:

It was like eight, nine months ago.

02:09:06 - 02:09:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:09:07 - 02:09:09 | Speaker 5:

So does he have a new job now?

02:09:10 - 02:09:11 | Speaker 9:

He does have a new job.

02:09:11 - 02:09:26 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so he's working right now, and he said there was a downsizing at work, and that's why he was like, oh. Yeah. And that's it. Never told you. Now, explain to me how she told you about this, or how did you find out from her about this?

02:09:26 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 10:

i mean she was just like how have you been dealing with you know him being fired and it just and then suddenly she was like and how is he dealing with like why he was fired and i just kind of you know went along with it and then she said she told me that he's like the reason why and i just was like playing along and and i said you know i was so in shock i just started talking about how we're you know going to therapy and like trying to work it out because you didn't want to

02:10:00 - 02:10:02 | Speaker 7:

I feel foolish that you didn't know the real reason.

02:10:02 - 02:10:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I mean, can you imagine? My husband didn't tell me that or was just doing that. Like, I just, I was so in shock.

02:10:10 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 2:

So have you said anything to him? Did you come home last night and say something to him?

02:10:15 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 6:

No, I don't know what to do.

02:10:17 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 2:

Really, so we're the first people that you've told?

02:10:21 - 02:10:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:10:22 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 2:

Did you find out what he did?

02:10:25 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 6:

All I heard was inappropriate touching.

02:10:28 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 2:

Of another coworker, a female coworker?

02:10:32 - 02:10:33 | Speaker 6:

Of a female coworker, yeah.

02:10:34 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What do our listeners think about this one here? And when I say breakup or makeup, I mean, I want more, too, than just breakup or makeup. I want you to give her some advice on what she should do because she hasn't even said anything to him. She hasn't even confronted him on this.

02:10:47 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 7:

That would be my first thing that you have to do is talk with him about it.

02:10:52 - 02:11:12 | Speaker 2:

I mean, that's a big lie. That's a huge lie. You know, it's one thing to lie about why you got fired and have the situation be that, you know, you weren't productive in the workplace and you're just ashamed to say that. But it's another thing to be fired for an offense that's as big as a, you know, sexual harassment.

02:11:12 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 7:

And if I were you, I mean, I hate that my brain goes there, but I would wonder if it was the tip of an iceberg. Like, what else is there that goes along with that?

02:11:22 - 02:11:25 | Speaker 2:

Explain that. What do you mean? Like, that he does this with other people?

02:11:25 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 7:

Is this a frequent thing And only one person complains I think it's

02:11:31 - 02:11:37 | Speaker 1:

Deeply embedded in your personality Look at all these celebrities that are getting caught It's not just one person

02:11:37 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 7:

My mind is like Is there something more going on Where he felt like that was okay

02:11:44 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 2:

How was he able to get a job And not have that become an issue for him Like where it came up during job interviews You know Is he working for a good company like does he have a good job right now yeah it's a good job i mean i have so many

02:12:02 - 02:12:08 | Speaker 6:

questions too i don't know how how can you be let go for that reason and then not be a red flag like

02:12:08 - 02:12:33 | Speaker 1:

i have so many questions i always wondered about that because i've heard and i'd like a human resource director to call and clear this up but i've heard employers can't always share that information if you were fired for sexual harassment stuff because it opens you up to litigation so i don't know exactly the details on that but there's a lot of times where they won't claim they won't tell you that's why the person was fired hi jennifer breakup or makeup breakup if you heard

02:12:33 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 5:

it he's gonna do it he did do it he's gonna do it again it doesn't change it unfortunately it's a sad story but it's probably been going on and probably will continue to go on should she um

02:12:45 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 2:

before she just goes right to breaking up should she sit him down and try to get his version of

02:12:50 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 5:

what's going on oh absolutely but i would act like i didn't know she's not going to get the truth and right there she'll know it's never going to be told she'll never tell her the truth about any

02:13:00 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 2:

of that you have kids you guys got uh three kids yeah my yeah we do too yeah not you jennifer i'm talking about madeline madeline you have three kids yeah they're all you know two to six wow Well, that's, I mean, you guys are going to need to go through some counseling. What's going on, Terrence?

02:13:23 - 02:13:24 | Speaker 3:

Yes, how you doing?

02:13:24 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 2:

Hi, breakup or makeup?

02:13:27 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 3:

I can't say it. They need to have a discussion.

02:13:30 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, for sure. Yeah, I think you're smart with saying that. Explain what you think the discussion. What should the discussion be?

02:13:37 - 02:13:39 | Speaker 3:

How come he didn't tell her in the beginning?

02:13:40 - 02:13:43 | Speaker 1:

Pretty simple. Because to me

02:13:43 - 02:13:47 | Speaker 4:

Stuff like that always comes out But his friends shouldn't have told his wife

02:13:47 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 1:

It almost leads to more suspicion If you didn't share Because I would think if I was being falsely accused of something I would be bitching about that every night To my wife and going This is what happened

02:13:59 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 7:

This is my side of the story And a lot of people are saying Maybe he's lying about having that new job too

02:14:06 - 02:14:08 | Speaker 2:

Hey Barbara what's up Break up or make up

02:14:08 - 02:14:10 | Speaker 4:

Hi break up immediately

02:14:11 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 7:

Why do you say that?

02:14:12 - 02:14:30 | Speaker 4:

Because there has to be like a trail. I worked in a country club, and we had somebody let go because poor girls complained, and this guy had a trail of constantly inappropriate touching with the girls to get rid of him.

02:14:31 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 7:

So you're saying what I kind of said, this might be the tip of the iceberg. This is not just one isolated incident, you don't think?

02:14:39 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. Yes.

02:14:42 - 02:14:43 | Speaker 2:

Sarah, breakup or makeup?

02:14:44 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, that's a tough one. I was the girl on the other end that actually was harassed by a boss. I reported it to the main owner, and nobody believed me, and I actually was let go. They, quote, unquote, laid me off.

02:15:00 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 2:

I will say that years later, years later, I found out that he was let go for the same thing with an inappropriate touching. He had exposed himself to another co-worker like he had done me. No one had believed me on it.

02:15:14 - 02:15:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

02:15:14 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 2:

And like you had said earlier, when it comes down to it, and I hate to say this because I know it's such, I mean, they've been married seven years. So you love someone, you have family, you have a life. So I can't say break up, but like as somebody who's been at that position, like you said, I kind of feel like if he's done it once, then what makes him think that that's OK? And then also for him to do that to you is really unfair because you're his spouse. I mean, you know, it's different if you go to lunch with a co-worker. We're all attracted to people on some level, but inappropriate touching, exposing yourself, whatever the case may be. And then to not tell her is like a whole other level of deception. I get where he's at. That's a big piece of it.

02:16:01 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 3:

I think that's as big as him doing this. I mean, I think that him doing the, you know, we don't, I don't know what the actual circumstances of what he did or what he, you know, all the things he did, if there are more than one. But him not telling her is, that's troublesome right there.

02:16:17 - 02:16:35 | Speaker 5:

We had an HR person just text, and the text just went away, and they said there is a very big difference between inappropriate touching and sexual harassment, where inappropriate touching could be a shoulder rub where somebody complained. And I'm totally playing devil's advocate here and reading this text, but you really got to get all the details.

02:16:35 - 02:16:42 | Speaker 3:

And remember this. You're going off of what a wife of a coworker says.

02:16:43 - 02:16:45 | Speaker 5:

It could be a game of telephone here.

02:16:45 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 3:

Who knows what exactly happened? You know what I mean? And who knows how much her husband knew of what really was going on and really what he was let go for. That's the thing. When people go, break up, break up, break up, break up. Oh, he probably did this before. Probably did this before. Let's collect all the details first. Let's get the details on this one here because let's not convict somebody as we've seen in this day and age like we've talked about. But to me, the big thing that I would have a problem with is he lied.

02:17:11 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 4:

But what if he didn't?

02:17:12 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 3:

What if he didn't? What if that coworker's husband heard something wrong?

02:17:17 - 02:17:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but that's where you have the conversation. He can pull up an email and he can show me what he was really fired for if he was let go. Ryan?

02:17:27 - 02:17:30 | Speaker 3:

Last comment from you. What's up?

02:17:31 - 02:18:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you guys kind of hit the nail on the head of what I was going to say. Like, you know, Joe knows what happened with this guy. I had a co-worker. He was at a Christmas party. He was dancing. He kind of slapped one of those females on the butt. Out of line, obviously. But he got fired for inappropriate touch. That doesn't mean this guy's like Bill O'Reilly or anything. It just means he did something out of the line that got him terminated. You really got to find out more before we go convict this guy and ruin his life. There's more to the story. That's why you guys are awesome.

02:18:01 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. Madeline, I think you need to have a conversation with him. I think you need to tell him exactly what happened yesterday at lunch.

02:18:07 - 02:18:09 | Speaker 5:

And I want an update, by the way.

02:18:09 - 02:18:12 | Speaker 3:

And I think you got to give us some details on what happened, okay?

02:18:12 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:18:14 - 02:18:17 | Speaker 3:

Thank you so much for trusting us to do this.

02:18:17 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 2:

Thank you so much. It was helpful to hear everybody's thoughts.

02:18:28 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 3:

Have you guys ever been a pity invite where somebody invites you either knowing that you're not going to go or at the last minute realizing that they completely forgot to ever give you an invite? Well, this past weekend, I was a pity invite for our boss, Scott Sands.

02:18:52 - 02:18:52 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really?

02:18:53 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 3:

Yes, the legendary Scott Sands.

02:18:55 - 02:18:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no.

02:18:56 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 3:

So I ended up texting with him, and it was a real quick, you know, brief text about, you know, a couple things. And then this is at 432 in the evening. And now, for those that don't know, a little behind-the-scenes stuff, Scott runs our Toledo properties as well as I think he's got like a bunch of regional areas.

02:19:23 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he has most of Ohio. But he's my boss directly.

02:19:26 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 3:

He's your direct boss. Right. He's my pretend boss.

02:19:29 - 02:19:31 | Speaker 2:

Exactly. And good friend. That is perfect.

02:19:32 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

So this is 432, all right? 4.32 Toledo and West Bloomfield time, which is where I live. And it says, what are you doing for dinner? A bunch of us guys are going to an old mob steak joint just over the Michigan line at 7 o'clock called Angelo's Northwood Villa. And I text back thinking to myself, wait, 4.32.

02:20:00 - 02:20:30 | Speaker 4:

seven o'clock dinner you live an hour away it would take me like over an hour to get there you know maybe with traffic and stuff like an hour and 15. I go well I'm going to a movie and I was I already had plans to to go to a movie but Scott and I have been talking about grabbing dinner here soon and he keeps wanting to take me to this um this place where he's got his own little cigar locker yeah what's it called the third street yeah third street cigar yeah he goes there all the time and I think he's really excited about the fact that he actually has a locker there with his name on it?

02:20:31 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 5:

It's a cool place, if I'm being honest.

02:20:33 - 02:20:33 | Speaker 4:

Is it?

02:20:34 - 02:20:38 | Speaker 5:

I've got my own card there, yes. It's a very cool place.

02:20:38 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 4:

Wait, you have your own, like...

02:20:40 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's like the club. It's a club.

02:20:42 - 02:20:43 | Unknown:

Oh.

02:20:43 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 5:

But you can have 24-hour access to it if you're a card member. You know what I'm saying? Oh, good for you. Not everybody can let themselves in, but some people can.

02:20:55 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 4:

Wait, how do they give you a key to the place? I have a key to the place, yeah. Oh, my God.

02:20:59 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, now we know what he wants.

02:21:01 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 4:

Wait, why do we not have, you know, like after hours parties there?

02:21:08 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay, so this place is in a city called Waterville, Ohio, which is a very, very cute and very small town. But we call it the Waterville office because we work from there so much. Oh, really? Instead of working here at the building. That's great. Yeah.

02:21:22 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 4:

That's funny. Well, have you ever been to this steak place that he was talking about, this Angela's? I have.

02:21:26 - 02:21:28 | Speaker 5:

I'm a little bit jealous. No, I haven't.

02:21:28 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 4:

So, Angelo's Northwood Villa. And he, so, okay, so here's my thing.

02:21:35 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:21:36 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 4:

My, the thought is, okay, 4.30, almost 5 o'clock, dinner's going to be at 7. I guess, technically, I could have made it, you know, if I really hustled. But was I a pity invite? Was it kind of like, all right, I'm going to throw this out there. I know he's not going to come.

02:21:53 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 6:

I don't know if I would call it a pity invite as much as I would a last minute.

02:21:56 - 02:21:57 | Speaker 4:

You were a drive-by invite.

02:21:57 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

You just caught it because you happened to be in the text.

02:22:00 - 02:22:04 | Speaker 4:

Do you think he had a table for like six and one guy dropped out at the last minute?

02:22:04 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 6:

That's where you're on that, Evan? It's like, well, you've heard about people doing that with weddings, right? Where they like invite everybody they want to come and then as the no RSVPs start coming in, they add people on and you'll get an invite like a month before somebody's wedding.

02:22:19 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 4:

You know, you were on the D-list.

02:22:21 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 5:

Yep, you do.

02:22:23 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh my God.

02:22:24 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 5:

As much as I hate to defend the guy, I really, because I love him, but I also hate him. He is a last-minute inviter to everything.

02:22:33 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 4:

He is?

02:22:33 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. There will be times where I'll be coming back from an event at 7.30, and he's leaving, and he goes, you want to go get dinner right now? No, no. Going home.

02:22:44 - 02:22:49 | Speaker 4:

So it's never the case that he ever has forethought.

02:22:49 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. If that man could plan, he'd probably get slept on.

02:22:53 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 2:

You said you keep talking about going to this third, three, third, the cigar place. Yeah.

02:22:59 - 02:23:08 | Speaker 3:

Neither of you have actually said the following sentence. Why don't we plan this date and just look ahead on your calendar two weeks and plan it? You just keep saying we should go to.

02:23:09 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 4:

Because honestly, I don't think that either of us really want to get together with each other. So I think it's one of those things. But no, I do. I really do want to go. But my problem is I want to go and I want to be able to experience it and drink. And then I got an hour and a half drive. and an Uber you know what an Uber from Toledo would cost

02:23:26 - 02:23:29 | Speaker 5:

I've looked it up before it's very pricey

02:23:29 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 4:

it's gotta be so I'd have to spend the night and the last thing I want to do is although Megan does have a key to that cigar place maybe I could sleep there

02:23:37 - 02:23:41 | Speaker 5:

yeah you're not getting an invite to my house so you might as well sleep there

02:23:41 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 4:

what's up Mark how you doing it's Mojo in the morning

02:23:44 - 02:23:46 | Speaker 1:

Mojo what's up brother

02:23:46 - 02:23:50 | Speaker 4:

say that again your phone cut out what'd you say

02:23:50 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 1:

I said you missed out. Angelo is one of the best steak houses around. Is it?

02:23:56 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 4:

It says here that it's – is it Erie, Michigan? I've never heard of Erie, Michigan.

02:24:01 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 1:

In Erie, Michigan, it's between Monroe and Toledo. I live in Monroe.

02:24:06 - 02:24:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:24:06 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 1:

So next time you go there, hit me up, and we'll hit a bar and you stay at my house.

02:24:10 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 4:

There you go. Wait, why don't you text me at 430 on Saturday night?

02:24:15 - 02:24:15 | Speaker 1:

All right.

02:24:17 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 4:

We'll go do it together. There you go, man. All right, buddy. Take care of yourself.

02:24:22 - 02:24:23 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, look later.

02:24:23 - 02:24:54 | Speaker 4:

I appreciate it. Do you guys ever get those type of invites from people? It's like the random like, oh, I was going to invite you. Oh, hold on. We better do it. We're in spite. Like I was at the Imagine Theater that's not that far from where you live, Spike. And I know you like to go to movies and stuff. Oh, yeah. I should have sent you a text going, well, hey, seeing a movie. I wanted to see if you want to come. And then when you would say, what time is the movie? Well, we're here. We're here. Oh, yeah. They're running the trailers. Right.

02:24:54 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 6:

But I think even more popular than that, what happens to a lot of people is what you said a couple of times.

02:25:00 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 5:

of minutes ago of like yeah let's get together let's get together yeah you decide you want to get together but you never get together because you never put an actual like day and time together i don't like this conversation there's always like quote-unquote plans but there are no concrete

02:25:15 - 02:25:23 | Speaker 4:

now megan down the plans you have to like hold her hostage i know so i've got a plans with mike

02:25:23 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 6:

and ellen coming up here soon and honest to god it is like pulling teeth with me you have to remind you 50 times three weeks out two weeks out day of day like when i was in toledo visiting a friend i was like hey megan i'm here you can't stand me up i'm in the city i just booked and made all the plans already and i'm gonna send them to you like thursday so it feels like you'll actually go right

02:25:47 - 02:25:54 | Speaker 4:

right right but if you're in toledo and you don't message megan she'll be like you were in my town

02:25:54 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 6:

And you didn't even make plans But you're acting like that's unreasonable behavior No, no, no, no

02:26:00 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 2:

But she doesn't really want us to come over She just does that to make us feel like So just a quick thing Do you guys ever do this? Because this is what's been happening to me lately I feel like the last year and a half I'll make plans to do anything It could be even an appointment for a doctor's appointment And on the day that I know I have it I get so upset that I have it Like why did I agree to do this? You know why? Oh, I get so worked up about that.

02:26:26 - 02:26:37 | Speaker 5:

I am the exact same way. And I think what it is is we've become so used to not having anything on our calendar that even to have one thing on your calendar for a day feels like a lot. It stresses me out and I get anxiety.

02:26:37 - 02:27:06 | Speaker 2:

So I have had it where sales people have said to me, hey, could you look up this date to see if we can go take Matt out for dinner or lunch? and I will look at the date in front of the salesperson. They'll notice that there's nothing on that date and they'll kind of give me the look like, oh, okay, you got it. I'm like, crap. So now I put fake appointments in my phone. You do not. Yes. I have fake appointments in my phone.

02:27:06 - 02:27:09 | Speaker 5:

How do you know it's real or fake? Are they color coded? Because I color code everything.

02:27:09 - 02:27:40 | Speaker 2:

Yes, yes. Blue means that it's fake and green means that it's real. But I'll have in here couch time. I'll have here Finnish Yellowstone. This is from like a week or so ago. But I'll put fake ones in there. So if somebody says to me, hey, can you look? Like here's a couple fake ones here on Wednesday that I've got. Oh, I have something. Sorry. A couple fake ones here on Thursday and Friday.

02:27:40 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 4:

But I messaged you guys last night. This is my R&R winter, and this is not rock and roll. It stands for rest and relaxation. Like, I am trying to give myself permission to slow things down for the next two months and say no to things that fill my calendar. And I've been real, you know, I just don't want to be busy running around because people think I'm being rude for turning down lunches and beers and poker. But this is the year I'm just. See, I have nothing.

02:28:04 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 2:

I'm not feeling guilty about canceling. I got nothing. I'm just, you know, do me a favor. Tell me dates on some of these things that you just have and I'll put them in my calendar.

02:28:15 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6. Coming up in minutes.

02:28:21 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 6:

It's time for more Mojo.

02:28:23 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 1:

Back to Mojo in the Morning.

02:28:25 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 3:

6 on 6. I'll tell you what it's got in it. It's got sexual innuendo, mild profanity, toilet humor, and drinking.

02:28:32 - 02:28:37 | Speaker 1:

Isn't that a thing? Roll the awkwardness. It's Mojo in the Morning, 6 on 6.

02:28:37 - 02:28:38 | Speaker 2:

Alicia?

02:28:39 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 6:

Yep?

02:28:39 - 02:28:44 | Speaker 2:

You surpassed the dirty scale of all dirty scales on 6 on 6.

02:28:45 - 02:28:47 | Speaker 4:

I'm not even your father, and I'm having a heart attack.

02:28:48 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 6:

I don't know.

02:28:49 - 02:28:52 | Speaker 2:

You're a dirty girl. Are you ready to do this? Are you sure you want to do this?

02:28:52 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 6:

Kind of. I don't know.

02:28:54 - 02:28:56 | Speaker 2:

Well, you got to be sure before I pick up the phone.

02:28:57 - 02:28:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, no, I'm sure.

02:28:58 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 2:

All right, we're going to do it. All right, we got Alicia on with us right now. Alicia's dad's name is Frank. And, Frank, are you okay if your voice goes on the radio here at Mojo in the Morning? Sure.

02:29:08 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 5:

And, Frank, before we begin, I just want to say I feel so sorry for you.

02:29:13 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 3:

Why, thank you very much. I appreciate that.

02:29:16 - 02:29:21 | Speaker 2:

You have a beautiful daughter, but you have done something wrong. I don't know where it was, but that's okay.

02:29:22 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if it was me doing something wrong or not.

02:29:25 - 02:29:33 | Speaker 2:

We're going to do a contest here with your beautiful daughter, Alicia. She's 25 years old. Alicia, tell your dad the name of the contest.

02:29:34 - 02:29:35 | Speaker 4:

It's called Six on Sex.

02:29:36 - 02:29:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, interesting. Nice.

02:29:39 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever heard this contest, Frank? No, I have not. Well, Dad, let me just tell you, we're going to ask your daughter six very personal questions about her sex life. She's going to answer them. If you stay on the phone the entire time, she wins a prize.

02:29:54 - 02:29:56 | Speaker 3:

Okay, we'll see how this works out.

02:29:56 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Question number one, Alicia, it's a simple one.

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 1:

How old were you when you lost your virginity?

02:30:03 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 2:

I was 14 and 9 months.

02:30:06 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 4:

14 and 9 months.

02:30:07 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 1:

Look at that.

02:30:08 - 02:30:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I remember. I remember.

02:30:10 - 02:30:12 | Speaker 4:

I like how she adds the 9 months on there.

02:30:12 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 2:

Well, isn't that when you're able to get your driver's permit?

02:30:14 - 02:30:15 | Speaker 4:

That's the exact age.

02:30:17 - 02:30:22 | Speaker 1:

Dad, did you know that? No, I did not. Would you like to know who it was with, Dad?

02:30:22 - 02:30:24 | Speaker 2:

Not really. Okay.

02:30:25 - 02:30:35 | Speaker 1:

We won't ask that question then. Don't worry. Thank you, Dad. Question number two. Alicia, do you have anything at all that you need to apologize to your dad for regarding your sex life?

02:30:37 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 3:

Yes. There was a time a year ago.

02:30:43 - 02:30:48 | Speaker 1:

Wait, real quick. You need to start this off by saying, Dad, I apologize for.

02:30:49 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 2:

Dad, I'm sorry for something that happened in the bedroom, your bedroom, where there was, you found Kate on your bed post. Oh, my God. I'm sorry. God.

02:31:05 - 02:31:13 | Speaker 4:

So you didn't even, it's not even that she did it in his bed. She got kinky in his bed. Of course she did.

02:31:14 - 02:31:15 | Speaker 2:

My dad's just laughing. It's okay.

02:31:15 - 02:31:17 | Speaker 1:

How long ago was that?

02:31:18 - 02:31:20 | Speaker 2:

I thought four, five years ago.

02:31:20 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy. All right.

02:31:21 - 02:31:22 | Speaker 2:

He was on vacation.

02:31:23 - 02:31:26 | Speaker 1:

So it wasn't when you were 14 and 9 months, thank God.

02:31:26 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 2:

No, I was a little older. I was a little older.

02:31:28 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, then I take the next question off the table here. Have you ever had sex in your dad's bed? Yes, I have. You have, obviously, yes. Okay, besides sex, what other crazy things did you do in your dad's bed?

02:31:44 - 02:31:53 | Speaker 2:

Recently-ish. There's a recording, maybe, that happened at my father's house.

02:31:55 - 02:31:56 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:31:58 - 02:31:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't know about you, kid.

02:32:00 - 02:32:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're just laughing. You're laughing until later.

02:32:05 - 02:32:14 | Speaker 1:

Question number four in Six on Sex. Have you ever messed around with someone while your parents were in the same house as you?

02:32:14 - 02:32:27 | Speaker 2:

There was, I mean, there's been times where he was in the house, but I think the biggest one, there was a time we were driving to a sporting event, and something happened in the backseat.

02:32:27 - 02:32:28 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:32:28 - 02:32:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Like a... I don't know if you're allowed to say that right now.

02:32:33 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 4:

No. While your dad was in the car?

02:32:36 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:32:37 - 02:32:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm praying for this girl tonight.

02:32:39 - 02:32:42 | Speaker 2:

Dad, do you remember seeing anything when you checked the rearview mirror?

02:32:42 - 02:32:43 | Unknown:

02:33:16 - 02:33:24 | Speaker 1:

02:33:24 - 02:33:32 | Speaker 2:

02:33:32 - 02:33:37 | Speaker 4:

02:34:16 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 3:

your parents were doing it? Yep. Dad's got to be quieter from here on out. You're a stallion,

02:34:24 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 1:

Huh, Dad?

02:34:25 - 02:34:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Dad's got to watch himself from here on out.

02:34:29 - 02:34:36 | Speaker 1:

That's right. Mom must be a very happy person.

02:34:38 - 02:34:39 | Unknown:

Sure she is.

02:34:40 - 02:34:44 | Speaker 1:

Well, that has been Six on Sex. You've made it through, and Alicia wins a prize.

02:34:47 - 02:34:47 | Speaker 3:

Yay.

02:34:49 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 2:

Love you, Dad.

02:34:50 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 3:

I love you too, baby girl.

02:34:51 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Sounds like she's loved a lot of people at the same time. Are you a daughter who wants to put your dad in the most uncomfortable position?

02:35:00 - 02:35:04 | Speaker 2:

02:35:26 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 2:

Were you boozing last night or were those old videos? A little bit. Only a couple of beers. A school night.

02:35:32 - 02:35:33 | Speaker 1:

Where did you go?

02:35:33 - 02:35:35 | Speaker 3:

At my sister's house. Oh, cool.

02:35:35 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 2:

I feel like we failed Reese because we didn't post anything for his birthday. And I was like, he's the social media director. He's not going to post himself. Yeah.

02:35:44 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 3:

I was thinking about that.

02:35:45 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 1:

Reese, do we have like a flattering photo of you that we could, or an unflattering photo of you? Do we have like you in a toilet, like throwing up or anything?

02:35:54 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sure there's a couple of those.

02:35:56 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, can we find one? Would you like to, if you want, you can send it to one of us and we'll post it or post your own if you'd like. Okay. What would you like?

02:36:04 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 3:

A little belated birthday post, you know? Okay. I'm always late to everything anyways, so, you know.

02:36:09 - 02:36:10 | Speaker 1:

You young punk.

02:36:11 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 3:

Hey.

02:36:12 - 02:36:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:36:13 - 02:36:15 | Speaker 3:

We all need to do an oh yeah. Yeah.

02:36:16 - 02:36:23 | Speaker 1:

What's it like to be, you know, Spike Shannon and I have not known for a long time what it's like to be 25 years old.

02:36:23 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 2:

How did I get grouped with you two now?

02:36:24 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 1:

Or 26 years old. It's been a long time, lady.

02:36:28 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 3:

It's been a long time. I don't have a lot of complaints, that's for sure.

02:36:31 - 02:36:33 | Speaker 1:

No aches and pains?

02:36:33 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 3:

Nope, not yet.

02:36:34 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 1:

How about ear hair? Do you have air hair?

02:36:37 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, I could. What's air hair?

02:36:40 - 02:36:50 | Speaker 1:

Air hair. Ear hair. Don't worry, he gets paid to talk for a living. Excuse me, miss.

02:36:51 - 02:36:55 | Speaker 2:

What's it like, Reese, if you haven't had a stroke yet that affects your voice?

02:36:55 - 02:37:17 | Speaker 1:

what's it what's it like uh what's it like for megan to what's it like for megan to be to be 26 years old don't be mad don't be mad i'm not i'm not um all right uh well reese it's good to uh good to have you here so you went out uh uh to your sister's place but i know you were out and about uh the bars over the the holidays too i did having some drinks i saw something very genius

02:37:17 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 3:

that i feel like i have to share with you guys okay so i was in fern dizzle i don't know if you guys are familiar with it let's start this over my old stomping grounds so i'm at this bar i don't know if i should plug them i think i should do it well depends on what you're going to say about

02:37:34 - 02:37:39 | Speaker 2:

them is it flattering or unflattering okay okay a new way bar yeah oh yeah good dive bar i love

02:37:39 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 3:

that place honestly a great place and great bartender too so i'm sitting at the bar with my friend extremely intoxicated or as you say very shoisted yeah just a hammer wait is that what you said that's what he said i have a couple different terms for it but you know yeah you feel me um so basically we're drinking and we're like wow we have not ate anything in the probably the past five days honestly because it's it it's like that you know especially when you're uh you're broke and you're young and you're 26 you know hey happy birthday to me i mean are you gonna spend

02:38:15 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 2:

money on groceries or alcohol alcohol you know whatever gets me by um anyway so i we're talking

02:38:23 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 3:

to this bartender and we noticed she's got three giant boxes of pizza right behind her and we were like oh do you mind if maybe we get a slice come to find out this bartender buys three boxes of pizza every night. Gives it to all of her bar guests, whoever seems drunk. For free? Yeah, completely for free. So smart. And as a result, she has less drunk people at her bar and she gets higher tips. Wow. That's amazing. Smart, smart. That is, yes, very nice. That is good. So shout out New Way Bar and Fern Dizzle. Where's the pizza from? Comos? Right there? Oh, you're

02:39:01 - 02:39:03 | Speaker 1:

getting a good test. Could I just ask

02:39:03 - 02:39:05 | Speaker 3:

a question here? You are high as a

02:39:05 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 1:

How high are you right now, though? How high are you right now?

02:39:08 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 3:

Have you taken an edible before the show ever? Honestly, let me tell you something. Yesterday was a big day for this guy. I had a lot of celebrating to you.

02:39:17 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 1:

Was it? Okay. So I'm hurting a little bit. All right. No, I'm fine with that. Hold on a second. Would you like a slice? I got a slice over here. Ooh, I would. I'm going to start bringing in pizza and just putting boxes of pizza behind me. Here, just to get Reese as excited as he wants.

02:39:31 - 02:39:48 | Speaker 2:

Seriously, nobody stopped me from doing that. There's a bar in downtown Plymouth. I can't remember which one it is. But they, at midnight, every weekend, they come piling in with, like, ten pizzas. Somebody just walks through and starts handing them around to everybody at the bar. So nice. Yeah, same thing.

02:39:49 - 02:39:51 | Speaker 3:

It's the kind of world I want to live in.

02:39:51 - 02:39:55 | Speaker 2:

But it's smart because I'll stay longer. Like, I need a base. I've already had a few drinks.

02:39:56 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 1:

Did you and your hooligan friend, did you guys?

02:40:00 - 02:40:16 | Speaker 2:

guys leave this uh this lady uh a little extra money because of that oh yeah yep we gave her an extra five bucks i mean nothing crazy but you know no that's good though that's big though yeah yeah did you how many slices can you ask for at that moment um she says one slice per person

02:40:16 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 7:

why did you try it throughout the night i asked for i i somehow finessed two pieces i was going for my third well big birthday boy over there that charm she knew you haven't eaten in a while or haven't ate i can never go to this bar again she's gonna

02:40:32 - 02:42:12 | Speaker 3:

see me next time and be like this kid um i want to know i want to know what your uh your thing is to to get a bigger tip like what's your what's your game because earlier this morning i was talking about my wife chelsea and how the guy was flirting with her and my sons were all upset but that was the guys obviously you know my wife's a beautiful lady but i think he was trying to get a better tip out of the deal this uh you know bartender in in ferndale she has pizza behind her and that gives her the ability to be to get uh bigger tips so uh what is your uh what is your little game that you have going on uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i've been getting called darling a lot and hun and things do you like that how you feel about um i'm you know what i'm fine with it I, uh, yeah, I'm, I'm usually okay with, uh, if the, you know, the waitress or somebody does that, you know, I was going to get a carryout order the other day and I walked into the Coney Island and she called me cutie and she wasn't like 70 years old, you know? Yeah. I was like, she was like 30 something years old and she looked at me and she goes, she goes, here you go, cutie. And I was like, hold on a second. Digging into this package. Ring me up again for a Coke. I'm going to give you a $28 tip off of that particular one. I saw something the other day that I thought was interesting. You'll tell us if you like this or not. I saw it on TikTok. People who are tipping with gift cards. So they're giving gift cards as tips. So they'll get gift cards from family and stuff. Not tipping on their gift card, tipping with gift cards.

02:42:12 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 5:

Because if you have a gift card, it's probably a lot more than you would tip, right?

02:42:15 - 02:42:22 | Speaker 1:

yeah but it depends like this is a place where they a tip-based job where they expect cash they're

02:42:22 - 02:42:28 | Speaker 7:

relying on that they don't need your gift cards don't pay rent or yeah that's the point i think

02:42:28 - 02:42:41 | Speaker 3:

that people were leaving in comments where people were like yeah wait a second i can't pay my rent with that that's a really good point megan um 844 mojo live uh what's up michael hey yeah i um

02:42:41 - 02:42:49 | Speaker 6:

And I'm in my 20s, and I flirt my butt off with women that are 40-plus years old to get that tip.

02:42:49 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. And you've got to do what you've got to do. And it works, right? What kind of place do you work at?

02:42:57 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 6:

Actually, I work at a T-Mobile, but that helps me get a lot of extra sales.

02:43:03 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 3:

So if they're coming in with, you know, looking for a phone or have some phone issues, you're flirting along, and these ladies will end up tipping? I've never known anybody that would tip their cell phone person.

02:43:15 - 02:43:20 | Speaker 6:

Not tipping, but extra sales. You know, I can get them on the extra device here and there.

02:43:20 - 02:43:27 | Speaker 3:

Really? So because of your flirtation, you've talked somebody into buying something that they would not have bought if it wasn't for your flirting?

02:43:28 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm just extra nice to them, you know? I tell them that their hair looks super nice that day or they have a really nice necklace, whatever it might be.

02:43:36 - 02:43:40 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Sarah, what's up?

02:43:42 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning. I love the show. I would always take the money and stuff it in my low-cut top, and then people who didn't usually tip would all of a sudden start tipping.

02:43:50 - 02:44:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that is also genius. There's no guy version of that. You know what I mean? There's no way I could do that. I can't put it in my zipper and get tipped more. You know what I mean?

02:44:03 - 02:44:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:44:03 - 02:44:13 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, unless you have a good butt and tight jeans, and you turn around and you put it in that back pocket. Yeah. See? Someone got excited.

02:44:13 - 02:44:19 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what do you think about gift cards? Will you put gift cards in between those boobies of yours?

02:44:20 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'll take what I can get.

02:44:21 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 3:

So you're okay with somebody tipping with gift cards, huh?

02:44:25 - 02:44:26 | Unknown:

Sure.

02:44:26 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because texters are texting in here right now saying that I ain't no gift cards. This is 206. It says, I want cold, hard cash, no gift cards. And then another person said, I just had a bunch of house appliances delivered, and I tipped them with Amazon gift cards.

02:44:48 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

I wonder how that works if you work in a place that has to pull their tips. Like if you've got to pay out your bus staff and a lot of places share the tips, and then what do you do with the gift card? Yeah, well, I would assume that you...

02:45:00 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 2:

would just put that in your own pocket right because you can i would think so but i don't know if the manager says well you gotta it's a 50 cash value i want you to put 20 in or something

02:45:10 - 02:45:43 | Speaker 3:

now all of a sudden you're getting punished for the gift card the car wash that i go to uh jack's car wash is in the detroit area when i'll go in there and wash a car if the guy is like really good like there's some guys there that are like exceptional yeah i'll give them money and i hate that they have to put it in that big old garbage can tip thing. I know. I want the guy to keep it himself, so I always try to do the whole thing where I open up my car door, because I also don't want streaks on my window. Right. And I open up my car door, and I slide it in there, and I'm going, hey, can you take a look at this thing? Here, put that in your pocket. Are you allowed to do that?

02:45:43 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 2:

Because there's one guy I love at the

02:45:45 - 02:45:53 | Speaker 3:

one I go to. I did it to one guy, and he put it in his pocket. It was like a drug deal happening right there at the car wash. What's up,

02:45:53 - 02:46:00 | Speaker 4:

rena hi guys i texted in just because i'm wait is this is this our rena yes it's your rena oh my

02:46:00 - 02:46:09 | Speaker 3:

god i thought to myself i'm like wow you got the same name as a rena rena what's going on rena had a scratchy throat today so she didn't come in uh thank you she wanted to make sure

02:46:09 - 02:46:29 | Speaker 4:

that she's on my way to monty right now to go get tested i think okay um just in case you know what's going on so our donut bar boy that brought us donuts for a few weeks ago he will bring some of his hosts to get good tables and stuff donuts and they give him

02:46:29 - 02:46:29 | Unknown:

good tools

02:46:29 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 2:

donuts are currency wait where does he do this at

02:46:35 - 02:46:45 | Speaker 4:

he'll do it at places like Birmingham because if they're really busy or they don't accept reservations he'll just bring donuts and be like Listen, if you guys can get me in right now.

02:46:45 - 02:46:52 | Speaker 3:

He'll go into a restaurant or to a club or bar or whatever, and he'll bring a dozen donuts or a thing of donuts?

02:46:53 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. One time I saw a hostess with, like, four boxes of, like, a dozen each.

02:46:59 - 02:47:05 | Speaker 3:

Could I bring them, like, tickets to go to the Masked Singer on stage at the Fox Theater?

02:47:07 - 02:47:08 | Speaker 4:

Obviously, we'll take what they can do.

02:47:08 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 3:

Do you remember the days when we used to, like, get CDs? If we would play music We would get CDs from the artist And we would get those things all the time I would always try to Spiff people when I was making No money at all And I would try to get things from that The guy at the sushi place that I used to go to all the time I think that guy's got more Music from this radio station For My sushi that I would Purchase That's a good deal Katie just delivered your coffee

02:47:41 - 02:47:41 | Speaker 2:

Did you tip her?

02:47:42 - 02:47:55 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, Katie. Let me see what I got here. Hold on. Here's a gas card. Oh, here. Buy one, get one free. Hold on. My old Blue Cross Blue Shield card from last year. How do you know which card is the new one? They're always the same.

02:47:55 - 02:48:02 | Speaker 2:

I looked at both of them last night. They're the same. I don't know why they give us new ones. Are you sure? Yeah. There's not a thing changes. I don't want to throw the old one away.

02:48:02 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 3:

That's all I got. I do have a drawer in my bedroom, in my bathroom, and it's loaded with gift cards. and so what it has is I have like a I was going to say a swear word you heard it subway cards I have so many subway cards and I have target cards like all those like target cards that they give you those $5 cards well maybe I'm going to start carrying them around Renna you work here you and Katie and Reese like when you guys do the runs like Katie just did for Starbucks would you like a $5 target card

02:48:33 - 02:48:35 | Speaker 4:

oh I'll take what I can get yeah

02:48:35 - 02:48:40 | Speaker 2:

alright here I'll give you my blue and white Bed Bath & Beyond coupon It's for 20% off one item.

02:48:40 - 02:48:44 | Speaker 4:

They still do those. Yeah, they do those. I don't know how come I don't get them anymore.

02:48:45 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 3:

Renna, good luck with your test. We'll talk to you later, okay? Thanks, guys. All right, bye.

02:48:48 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 1:

You also think you're smarter than the idiots who fall for scams. Until it happens to you. Another world-famous phone scam happens at 9.50 on Mojo in the Morning. How many quality questions can we get to? It's another senseless survey on Mojo in the Morning. Hello.

02:49:06 - 02:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Hi, this is Mr. Bob Dabalina calling from the U.S. Senseless Bureau. We got your census in the mail that you filled out for us earlier this year. And the last page wasn't filled out. The back had three questions that were left blank. It's a common mistake. Just wondering if we could just run through them really quickly. It would take about 30 seconds. All right, make it quick. I'm on my way out the door. Okay. Just wondering if you buy or lease your car. I lease it. And are you afraid to fall asleep for fear of a hedgehog eating your brain while you sleep?

02:49:36 - 02:49:42 | Speaker 4:

Uh, no. Come on. This is not the Census Bureau.

02:49:42 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 2:

This is the Senseless Bureau, and I'm going to just take about 30 more seconds here just to the last two questions. Armed with nothing but feather dusters, who would win in a tickle fight? Hugh Jackman, Will Smith, or The Rock? Come on. Are you kidding me? Just need your answer on that one. You need my answer on that one. Who would be the contestants again? Hugh Jackman.

02:50:00 - 02:50:24 | Speaker 7:

jackman will smith or the rock uh the rock and who's your favorite astrophysicist dude last question i gotta go do you ever wake up and say you know what it i'm not swearing today all right take it easy that's all you're gonna get i didn't think you were gonna have that guy answer one question he didn't seem like he was into it want more senseless surveys
