Hello, everybody. It's the weekend, bitches.

00:03:51 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 6:

This is the Mojo, Mojo in the morning show. Remix on Mojo, Mojo in the morning show. Kev's got the remix, Mojo in the morning show.

00:04:20 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 7:

It is Friday Mojo, here we go. This is the Mojo in the Morning Show.

00:04:47 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

It's Mojo in the Morning. Mojo, Shannon, Megan We got Kev KP, Lydia Zach, Mike's with us on Fridays for Throwback. Mark's here. Mark's here Yes

00:05:00 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 2:

mark the uh the engineer is here um last night was uh chelsea's birthday we had a great night we stayed out late so i'm a little tired it was fun it was funny we were sitting there at dinner and we were talking about uh you know the work that goes into having a birthday when it's your birthday because you got to go and acknowledge all the people that have texted you and all the people that maybe wrote a post or something on social media and uh chelsea brought up something that was so funny our son joe who you guys know from uh being joe from the joe show he does uh the afternoon shift on channel 955 in detroit but also is a morning uh host of wflz in tampa uh in iheart radio he posted to his mom a collage of pictures and chelsea swears that every single picture might be the most unflattering picture of herself i was going to ask you if that was

00:05:54 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

intentional so you noticed it you can see it but i couldn't tell if he was trying to be funny or if he was just an idiot okay so same because in my family and with my friends for birthdays we post like embarrassing i call them vintage vintage photos of everybody right so you can see like the bad haircuts the bad fashion the whatever and that's what i thought he was trying to do

00:06:18 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 2:

so he was it was supposed to be like a nice i think it was supposed to be a nice i don't know Oh, but she's sleeping probably right now because it was late night.

00:06:26 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

I have a girl's sleep.

00:06:27 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, look at these pictures. So he posted, happy birthday to the woman who taught me love, strength, the importance of family, and so much more. Thank you for picking up my call every day since I moved out. Thank you for being the heir to listen to when I needed guidance. Thank you for being blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. He does the whole thing. Every picture is Chelsea in a way that makes her look like her thighs are about 8,000 pounds. One picture is from behind. It's just her ass picture. And then there's another picture of Chelsea, like, just after she, like, had given birth to Jacob. So, you know, she's still got some of the baby weight going. And I'm going through these pictures, and I'm going, oh, my God, where did, first off, did he find these pictures? Like, how did he find these? because you should never post a picture that's unflattering of a person. And if you have a picture that you even think is, you should ask them. I've learned this from Chelsea. And if you're going to post a picture of Chelsea, grab it from her Instagram. Learn firsthand from me. Don't post a picture that you think is great of hers because she probably doesn't think it's great of her. But do you guys know those people that post unflattering? Oh, yeah, hold on. KP.

00:07:39 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 3:

As I looked up at our Instagram, I'm like, KP, what in the hell is that still photo of me next to the beautiful birthday photo of Chelsea from last night? It's called clickbait. Makes you want to look at it some more. It makes me want to go have a facelift and filler is what that does. Sorry, guys. I stopped checking our socials because of the pictures that are posted of me. Well, maybe y'all should look better.

00:08:04 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 2:

crazy um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 who is the person in your life that posts bad pictures of you i think deep down inside those people are people that are trying to make themselves look better i think that they always look oh look how good i look nine times out of ten that's the case

00:08:24 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 3:

in in a related topic i also know people who well one person in particular who sends her husband and I'm friends with the husband, not necessarily her. I went to school with him. She sends him the exact photo that she wants him to post on social media for their anniversary, birthday, whatever, you know, whatever it is. And I'm like, that to me is kind of tacky. Like it's, I think it's okay. I think it's okay for you to check with Chelsea and say, hey, I want to post a photo for your birthday. Do you like this photo? But she literally airdrops him the exact photo she wants. Making it easy for him.

00:09:03 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

I like it. As a husband, I would have loved that.

00:09:05 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 1:

See, I don't like that. I hate when I already.

00:09:08 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

That's like chat GPT doing your birthday post.

00:09:11 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

I hate when I already post a carousel. It's already up. People have already tapped it. It's already visible. And then you get the text message, hey, do you mind actually taking this down because I don't like the way that I look? Yeah. Yeah, I mind.

00:09:26 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 3:

It's already up. You can just remove one photo from a carousel.

00:09:29 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you can? Is that new?

00:09:30 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I had to do that for a post recently because one of my friends, one of my friends didn't like a picture. Yeah.

00:09:36 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

I thought you couldn't.

00:09:38 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 3:

It's their post. Can't they say that's not a nice thing to post with me? Can you take it down? It's not about you.

00:09:46 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 1:

But it's my page, so it is about me.

00:09:48 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

You can remove, you just can't add. So you can remove one photo from a carousel, but I wish they would make it so that you could add a new photo in.

00:09:56 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 2:

Sue, hi, how you doing?

00:09:58 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

I'm good, guys. How are you?

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 2:

you this morning we're doing okay we're talking about the people who like to post bad pictures of

00:10:04 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 4:

people oh my gosh my sister she lives in virginia so i know she won't hear this but uh she likes to take wide angle pictures oh really those are the best and they and she won't even say anything all of a sudden my cousin this just happened just a couple months ago my cousin is looking through the pictures that my sister had posted of us and she goes oh my god you have to take that picture

00:10:28 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

down my legs look so huge it's true you got to make sure you look at it all it's funny she does the wide angle pictures i love doing portrait mode on iphone and chelsea gets uh from time to time mad at me because it makes me look great but it blurs everybody else it's like yeah that's that's the problem too with portrait hey thanks for the call we appreciate it you guys have a good day take care what's up michelle how you doing good morning how are you guys good who's

00:10:56 - 00:11:15 | Speaker 5:

the person that posts bad pictures so my kids will post any random picture and i'm like oh my god i look so fat in this picture but my boyfriend on the other hand he will not let me post a picture of him at all without his approval first he has to approve it before isn't that funny that

00:11:15 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 2:

he a guy that's more vain than you are huh what is he worried about he won't seem to be overweight

00:11:21 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 5:

and now he's not, he's nice and muscly and everything now, but, you know, it's the mentality. You know, I get it. I used to be very overweight myself, and I still see that fat person in the mirror, even though I'm not. I get it. But he does, too. So it's like, you know, he's like, oh, my God, look at my stomach. Oh, my God, look at that. And I'm like, oh, my God, look at your muscles. Like, what are you focusing on?

00:11:45 - 00:11:59 | Speaker 2:

I know. It's funny, because if you look at montage pictures, sometimes like those, you know, pictures from the years of it looks like i'm doing like before and after pictures for uh medical weight loss or ozempic or something i don't know what's up david hi

00:11:59 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 3:

my daughter has to have final approval on all pictures posted and she has edited them sent them back and post the and with the new grandbaby it's gonna get worse oh no

00:12:11 - 00:12:16 | Speaker 2:

yeah wait i wonder will she be so picky about the grandbaby or just her

00:12:17 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 3:

Both. Probably more picky. It'll probably be worse with the grandbaby because you can't have a bad shade on it or something or a bad look on your face. Oh, I'm regretting the pictures. I just post that. There's an aesthetic going on.

00:12:30 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

You're a young grandpa. You know what you need to do? You need to do what old grandpas do, like the old grandparents that have Facebook accounts where the picture's not even in line. It's like a picture up their nose or something. You ever notice that on older people's Facebook page? They'll post something and you're like, what were they trying to do? I don't think that they had any idea what the hell they were posting on this thing. Or maybe it was an accident. Thanks for the call, man. We appreciate it.

00:12:56 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

It's time for more Mojo. Mojo in the morning.

00:13:25 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning. KP, how's your mom doing? Is she doing okay?

00:13:28 - 00:13:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she's good. Thank you for asking. Yeah, she had a big surgery yesterday, and so she's recovering.

00:13:34 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 2:

Send our well wishes to her. I love Mama KP.

00:13:37 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 1:

I will, yeah. I was out Monday just because she was having some stomach pain and ended up having to have her gallbladder removed, which is crazy.

00:13:49 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 2:

I've got to ask you a question. When you have a gallbladder removed, it doesn't sound so bad if you get on the scale right afterwards and you're down. How much does a gallbladder weigh? Does anybody know?

00:13:59 - 00:14:03 | Speaker 1:

That's it? Oh, boo. That's it? I told my mom, you're going to be skinny. So teeny tiny. I'm going to be skinny.

00:14:03 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 2:

I'd like to take my gallbladder, my, what else? My liver, my pancreas.

00:14:10 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, anything we don't absolutely need. That's right. Like six feet of intestines.

00:14:14 - 00:14:18 | Speaker 2:

Just for a Friday night. That's all I want to do. Just to fit into an extra large shirt.

00:14:19 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Is she back home or is she still in the hospital? No, she's still in the hospital. She should be coming home today, though. Okay. Yeah, it's so funny. My cousins called her and I heard them talking to her on the phone. She's like, Kimmy, if you wanted attention, you could have just called us. And it's just such my family. But yesterday, I ended up making her some soup because she's not going to be able to eat solid food for a little bit. And I took it home. And I don't know if you guys with siblings can relate to this, but I have to take extra precaution with my brothers who still live at home because they eat everything in sight. It's always the boys. It's always the boys. They have no self-control. They'll eat an entire pot of soup in one soup.

00:15:00 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 2:

sitting so i i wrote on a sticky note this is mom's boo-boo soup do not eat like very very clearly like you cannot miss this sticky note i put it in the group chat and i mean shannon and megan and lydia you guys know you went to my place for my housewarming party you know which tupperwares belong to was a girl's trip by the way girls girls sorry kev um you guys know that Mama KP writes, no! In big black Sharpie? In big black Sharpie on the Tupperware that she needs for, like, parties and events or, like, guests and whatever, because my brothers will eat it all. All of it.

00:15:42 - 00:15:42 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:15:42 - 00:15:58 | Speaker 2:

And I remember growing up having to hide things from my siblings in order for them not to eat it, like my Reese's from Halloween. Like, I had to hide it underneath my bed in the corner in a little Tupperware because I knew that they were going to eat it if I put it in the pantry.

00:15:58 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 6:

I never had to do this growing up. It was myself and my two younger sisters, Emily and Jacqueline, and we just like never, I don't know, like we just didn't do that. But now that I have Samantha and Kieran and then my two littles, Lucy and Smith, in the house, I will go in like Samantha's room or Kieran's room and I'll find like big jugs of apple juice, Trader Joe's, chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels. Like, they are hiding food because they're not used to having younger siblings that will eat all of, like, the sugary snacks that they want as well.

00:16:29 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 2:

And the fight that ensues when one finds out the other ate their whatever chocolate syrup is, like, none. It's like World War III.

00:16:38 - 00:16:46 | Speaker 6:

Yesterday, there was a fight over pumpkin pie Pop-Tarts. And I'm like, you guys, I can go to Croker. And I can buy more. It is not a big deal.

00:16:46 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 4:

Wait until Smith starts hiding ice cream bars in his room like my kids did. And they melt By the way, it's not just kids that you have to hide from You have to hide from spouses too So I'm sure that there's some people That are listening right now that have to hide food 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 And why is it that they didn't make Any of the What is it, Tupperware or whatever it is Why did they not make Tupperware With locks on it?

00:17:13 - 00:17:18 | Speaker 3:

You want a locker combination on it? Yeah, with like No, they do not They do.

00:17:19 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 2:

On TikTok, I saw on MomTalk, there's a way for moms to have a refrigerator locker that only moms and dads can get into. Oh, really?

00:17:29 - 00:17:57 | Speaker 5:

So kids don't know the combination. Shut up. That's awesome. It looks like the pasta containers. Those clear containers with the lock on the top. But to this day, I am a grown-ass adult. To this day, I write the most threatening messages on all of my videos. If I ever commit a crime and they're like, does she have a history of violence? My brother will show you all of the Tupperware and the to-go boxes that said, if you touch this, I will kill you in cold blood. Know that it's planned. It will be murder one, not murder two. I will murder you.

00:17:58 - 00:18:10 | Speaker 3:

See, the crazier the message, the more enticing it is for me to eat it. And I'm not talking about, like, I'm respectful in these type of situations because I've done it before with my younger sister, especially when we live together. Yeah. I'll take a corner. I'll take a piece.

00:18:10 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 2:

No. That's you. You take a corner until there's nothing left.

00:18:14 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 3:

The worst, here's the thing. The worst thing about it for me was the to-go plates from Thanksgiving. Because if you're eating at someone else's house and you make your to-go plate and you bring it home, I have everything in that to-go box that I want to eat. And I want to eat it when I open up my box, the same amount of macaroni and cheese that I scooped out better be there. When somebody else doesn't get the cranberry sauce and they just want some of yours and you open it up and you don't have it anymore, All I know about to break loose.

00:18:41 - 00:18:46 | Speaker 4:

What if you bring home leftovers? Do you put your name on the leftovers? Oh, yeah.

00:18:46 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 5:

I'll say there are two chicken strips in here. I know that there are two chicken strips in inventory on the Tupperware box. If there are less than two chicken strips, you're going to pay.

00:18:57 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 4:

I just Googled Tupperware to see if they have locks on Tupperware, and I just got the breaking news story. Tupperware just filed for bankruptcy because nobody's buying Tupperware anymore. What is the story, I guess?

00:19:07 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 6:

Who's not buying Tupperware? I don't know. How are you saving this?

00:19:09 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 4:

They're saying Tupperware brand filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection because its colorful containers did not make them more profits.

00:19:17 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 2:

I mean, have you seen Salvation Army? There's so much Tupperware in there. What are you saying? I've got Tupperware from 18 to 18.

00:19:23 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 4:

I don't know if I want to use Tupperware.

00:19:25 - 00:19:30 | Speaker 3:

You go out to eat. You go out to eat. Some of these places have nice plastic to-go boxes. That's it. That's true.

00:19:30 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 6:

I save those and re-wash them. Exactly.

00:19:32 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 3:

I do.

00:19:33 - 00:19:37 | Speaker 4:

Sydney, what's up? We're talking about how KP has to hide food from her brothers. What's going on?

00:19:39 - 00:19:40 | Speaker 1:

First of all, first time, long time.

00:19:43 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

00:19:45 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

But my grandpa used to drink coffee, probably like five cups throughout the day. And with that, he would always have cookies. And so he would go through about a pack of cookies a day. And so my grandma would hide.

00:20:00 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 6:

the good cookies in the back of the pantry and get him one from the dollar store.

00:20:07 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 2:

That actually is a great idea. Switch everything on them. Make it be bad things that they are eating. What's up, Sarah?

00:20:14 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning.

00:20:15 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 2:

What's going on? We're talking about hiding food.

00:20:19 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 3:

Well, I we have a one-year-old, so when me and my husband go out to dinner, like sometimes one of us has to leave early and kind of go in the car because he's acting up, so I'll say, hey, pack up my food. I'll finish it when we get home. And that never happens. Like, when we get home, I'll put the baby down for bed or something. I come back down, my leftovers are gone. Like, it's not even. Oh, my God. It's like he smells them. I can hide them behind, like, the milk or something. Just kind of, like, tuck them back there. He knows where they're at. I never get my leftovers, ever.

00:20:48 - 00:20:56 | Speaker 2:

Man, you know what? Leave it to a guy to eat all the girls' leftovers. Are there any women that do this? Are there any women that take their guys' leftovers?

00:20:56 - 00:20:58 | Speaker 7:

No, we have compassion and empathy.

00:20:58 - 00:21:03 | Speaker 2:

No, the women thing, they like to throw stuff away before you would. That's the worst thing about women.

00:21:03 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay, that is, I do do that. That's ridiculous. Stuff grosses me out after it's been in there for a day. I have some great something there, Ma.

00:21:10 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 2:

Hey, go ahead. Listen to what Jack does to make sure that nobody eats it. What do you do, Jack?

00:21:17 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning. Yeah, three brothers growing up. Standing rule was you just lick it. You just lick your rock covers and nobody will touch it.

00:21:26 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 8:

My sister used to do that.

00:21:28 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 2:

yes that's awesome what you know what she did did her foods we've never eat hers

00:21:35 - 00:22:01 | Speaker 7:

00:22:01 - 00:22:35 | Speaker 5:

genius what a great idea kirsten what's up good morning everybody good morning i love you guys oh we love you too love you too so my husband and i whenever we go out to a restaurant and they'll give you like the styrofoam take home kind of container i'll take my nail and i'll write a k on the top of it right away my name is kirsten but his name is ron so he'll just go in the fridge and put a mark over the top and turn k into an r and then he'll eat it see all my

00:22:35 - 00:22:42 | Speaker 8:

brothers have an a name adam aaron aiden and alex so they can't do the a initial they have to write

00:22:42 - 00:23:04 | Speaker 6:

i like this one al what do you guys have hey there yes my husband and i we have a waiver system that we use for our leftovers what's a waiver system explain that yeah if we go home with leftovers they get to be in the fridge just until that night and the next day if they're still

00:23:04 - 00:23:15 | Speaker 4:

there then it's free game it's fair game you need to at least give 24 hours because i want it for dinner the next night not the same night that's the rules that they have in their place by the

00:23:15 - 00:23:20 | Speaker 2:

way if you notice shannon with all the people now in your house your refrigerator is not big enough You've got to get the garage fridge.

00:23:20 - 00:23:28 | Speaker 4:

We have a garage fridge, and we also just got real fancy and bought a deep freezer for the garage as well. No, no. I know. I am a true Italian.

00:23:29 - 00:23:43 | Speaker 2:

You need the bedroom fridge. Get the fridge in the bedroom. I have no room in my bedroom. And you really, really hide things. Mojo in the morning, don't mess with Shannon. Don't mess with Shannon when you're awake or not awake in this case. So bad.

00:23:44 - 00:24:43 | Speaker 4:

This just happened like two hours ago. So my alarm is set for $3.50 every morning, okay? And I was so freaking tired this morning. So I snoozed once, put my phone under my pillow, and then my alarm went off again. And I'm like, I'm going to snooze one more time. I'm exhausted today. So I sit up to grab my phone, and Wes sits up at the same time. And I don't even know how it happened when I turned over, but I elbowed him in the nose. and heard a crack and he started freaking out grabbed his face because just about a year ago he had not one but two surgeries to fix a broken nose oh geez so now i left my house and he's still trying to figure out if i to fix a broken nose his nose did you give him that other broken nose or was this the only he had actually broken it four different times oh my god finally fixed it

00:24:43 - 00:24:49 | Speaker 2:

about a year ago but you say you heard bones crack he goes my nose just cracked i'm like oh

00:24:49 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 4:

f this is like the last thing that i need to start my day west cough twice if if uh you need help

00:24:55 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 7:

not only that but do we believe shannon's story here

00:25:00 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 4:

Because let us not forget, a few days ago, he took her skiing, and it was a terrible experience. I think this is way back.

00:25:06 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 5:

For the double black diamond. I would have done something better than this.

00:25:11 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 3:

The violent crimes in the bedroom.

00:25:15 - 00:25:16 | Speaker 4:

That's a good name of an adult film.

00:25:17 - 00:25:18 | Speaker 3:

Violent crimes in the bedroom.

00:25:18 - 00:25:20 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wait, maybe not. That isn't a deal. Maybe not.

00:25:20 - 00:25:31 | Speaker 3:

By the way, sleep injuries are a real deal, by the way. There have been people that have woken up with broken noses and not knowing what the hell is going on.

00:25:31 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I mean, yeah. He would know. Obviously, he knows what happened. Tossing and turning. Please don't let his nose be broken.

00:25:37 - 00:25:44 | Speaker 3:

Flailing. I used to be a person that was like that. I was not a very sound sleeper, and I would move around a lot in bed.

00:25:44 - 00:25:46 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever fallen out of bed as an adult?

00:25:47 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

00:25:47 - 00:25:58 | Speaker 2:

Have you really? Have you, Mike? Yeah, it's terrifying. It's like that scene in The Inception where you're falling back. they're falling back in the chair and then you wake up really fast you're like yeah what happened

00:25:58 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 3:

what happened yeah there's there's nothing worse than that and by the way i've fallen out of bed shannon i was sleeping so soundly i didn't wake up i woke up on the floor going how did i end up on the floor and realize it was just slept through the entire fall yeah i used to sleep on and this is before chelsea and i got together uh even though when we first got together i did it i slept on a single one of those what are they called single mattress or what is it like a twin bed a big boy bed i mean let me tell you this big fat ass was uh was on one of those things and so you couldn't roll anywhere you rolled somewhere and what ended up happening was the you would roll and it would pop a wheelie on one side and it was unstable because it was just one of those metal frames it had no nothing attached to it other than that yeah that cruise i went on i had

00:26:43 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 4:

a twin bed and it felt like i was sleeping in a coffin like i had to like tuck myself in so i didn't fall out yeah you get claustrophobic don't you yeah and i also had to downsize my bed when i got my apartment and i've learned that i cannot share a bed with another person because i had to get a queen to fit into my apartment i take up the entire thing i sprawl out um 844 mojo live

00:27:05 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 3:

844-665-6548 is our telephone number uh as you are waking up and a lot of people do wake up to listen to the the radio show here have you ever had a sleep injury do you ever wake up with an injury that you have no idea how it happened or is anybody gone to the lengths of have they broken any bones at all in uh in their sleep how's Wes doing this morning yeah I just said his or knows okay he needs to milk this response this is seriously um you know what we'd suck though on this and this is where I would do it I always was worried that people were going to think that I was an abusive spouse because of just that where you roll around all the time and you end up you know hitting somebody you ever have that happen where you guys lean in to go to give each other a kiss and you bang heads oh my gosh I have it all the time it's like the the worst and you get and it's like mild concussion there for a second as you're trying to uh to get through it uh what kind of sleeper are you Kev are you a violent sleeper are you a sound sleeper I know that we've talked before about the baby sleeping in the bed, but how are you, as far as a sleeper, concerned?

00:28:14 - 00:28:28 | Speaker 1:

I would say, if my partner had to judge me, I would probably say I'm the best person to sleep with. Of course. Do not move. Because I do not move. I'm a dead sleeper. You don't move at all?

00:28:28 - 00:28:31 | Speaker 3:

I don't move at all. I can literally... How do you know you don't move?

00:28:32 - 00:28:34 | Speaker 1:

Because I feel like I wake up in the same spot.

00:28:34 - 00:28:43 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really? Oh, so same, like, see, that's the thing. Are you a back sleeper or a side sleeper? I can sleep always. See, I can't sleep at all on my back. I feel like I'm suffocating myself.

00:28:44 - 00:28:48 | Speaker 1:

I can sleep on my back. I can sleep on my side. I can sleep on my stomach. I just need to sleep.

00:28:48 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. For some reason, you say that. I slept that same way the whole time. I used to think that way, too, because I wouldn't wake up to go pee. And I sleep through the night. I take this, God, what the hell is it called? It's like, I don't know what it is. But it's some kind of, it's like a sleep thing that Chelsea gives me. It's called Xanax. No, I don't know.

00:29:08 - 00:29:10 | Speaker 2:

No. She drives me off twice.

00:29:10 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 3:

No, it's like, yes, thanks. Wes and I, by the way, are going to be calling you later today. No, it's some kind of a natural thing that I'll take. Not a melatonin or anything, but I sleep great now because of it.

00:29:23 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 4:

One of my favorite things about adulthood, and I do this too, is bragging about when you can make it through the night without getting up to pee.

00:29:29 - 00:29:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes. That's when you're 30 years old, you're already bragging about it.

00:29:33 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 5:

I am not a middle of the night peer. Even when I was pregnant

00:29:36 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh good for you

00:29:38 - 00:29:42 | Speaker 5:

No, that's not good for me It means I don't drink enough water

00:29:42 - 00:29:43 | Speaker 3:

That can't be what that means

00:29:43 - 00:29:45 | Speaker 5:

I don't drink enough water, I know I don't

00:29:45 - 00:29:48 | Speaker 3:

Or you should definitely not drink as much as I do before I go to bed

00:29:48 - 00:29:52 | Speaker 1:

I don't pee in the middle of the night Oh good for you And I drink water all the time

00:29:52 - 00:29:57 | Speaker 3:

He's also a child Matt, what's going on? What's going on, Matt?

00:29:58 - 00:29:58 | Speaker 1:

You're a child

00:30:00 - 00:30:11 | Speaker 2:

caller hey matt we're talking about sleep injuries yeah so i used to have really bad nightmares um

00:30:11 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 3:

i used to have nightmares of like vicious dogs coming after me so i'd i'd kick and i hit my girlfriend in my sleeve luckily i don't do that anymore but geez so the that's the thing you get

00:30:23 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 2:

these nightmares where you feel like it's actually happening to you and then that innocent bystander that person that's next to you your girlfriend gets hit over the deal that's crazy oh yeah it feels yeah it feels so real hey call us more often buddy we want to hear from you okay yeah well have a good day you too matt what's going on hi apple hi what's going on we're talking about shannon

00:30:49 - 00:31:15 | Speaker 4:

yeah well i have nightmares and dreams and stuff and there's usually i'm fighting a ghost or something right and i'll grab my boyfriend like by his hair and start punching him in the face that's craziness he'll have to wake me up in the middle of the night and be like hey apple it's

00:31:15 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 2:

okay it's okay you know so you have actually grabbed him and started punching him yeah Holy crap.

00:31:23 - 00:31:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we're still together, luckily.

00:31:25 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Is he there right now? Yeah. Can we talk to him, please, just to get a well check on him? What's up, Jason? How you doing?

00:31:34 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, not too bad.

00:31:35 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 2:

What's happening, buddy?

00:31:37 - 00:31:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, I have woken up to a dislocated shoulder.

00:31:40 - 00:31:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. What happened?

00:31:43 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 4:

What did you do? My best guess is that I sleep with my arm up kind of under my pillow, and sometime during the night, it just popped out.

00:31:52 - 00:31:59 | Speaker 2:

I've often wondered that, too. You put your body weight all on it, right? Sometimes that can happen.

00:32:00 - 00:32:01 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

00:32:01 - 00:32:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's crazy.

00:32:03 - 00:32:04 | Speaker 3:

It's not a fun way to wake up.

00:32:04 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 2:

I bet you. Wow.

00:32:06 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 3:

Terrifying.

00:32:07 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 2:

This is an interesting one. 517 says, when I had my belly button pierced, I woke up and the belly button ring was attached to my blanket. And my stomach was dried blood all over the place because of the piercing broke off. That's a crazy one And then where's the boyfriend one here Apparently I beat the crap out of my boyfriend last night He just told me about this There's a lot of this A lot of these ones Oh somebody here says I kicked out a bedroom window And had to get 113 stitches in my sleep Oh my gosh That's like a sleepwalking or something thing That scares me because I used to sleep eat and sleepwalk and I would find myself in the kitchen sometimes. I'd wake up and I'd be in the kitchen. But the weird part is you wondered if you ever could walk out of a window or not realize there's steps or stairs if you're trying to go from downstairs to down to the refrigerator.

00:33:08 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 1:

When you used to sleep eat, did you eat different things or did you always go for the same thing?

00:33:12 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea always says that it was her leftovers from the night before, so she didn't believe me that I was sleep eating.

00:33:18 - 00:33:19 | Speaker 3:

It was like 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

00:33:20 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 5:

WKQI Detroit WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo Three great stations One stupid show This is Mojo in the Morning Live

00:33:35 - 00:34:25 | Speaker 2:

Alright, it's Mojo in the Morning show Kevin has kind of something interesting going on For those, Kevin, that Are either new to the show Or newer right now And haven't listened to us or our podcast in a while, you've got to catch up. Kevin made a big announcement that he and his girlfriend have broken up and that you and Shirella are going to go your separate ways, and you guys have had some struggles that have been going on for the past few months. Yeah, about six months. Six months, which we're happy that you are doing well and we're happy that we hear Shirella's doing well. But this is an interesting one because you guys are both got family going on here. You got kids and stuff. So you had something very interesting, though, happen with Josiah, your son.

00:34:25 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 1:

So Josiah is 11 years old, for those who don't know. I have shared parenting with his mother, Jasmine. So Shirell is not Josiah's biological mom. So like Mojo said, I've been going through some things. And six months ago, Shirell and I, we split ways. And obviously some days are better than others, but I'm in a much, much, much better place on a consistent level than I was earlier on so blessed and thankful for that so Josiah obviously is aware of what's going on and has been aware for some time and as a parent you want your children to

00:35:00 - 00:35:37 | Speaker 2:

be the happiest that they can possibly be and right now i feel like the thing that would make josiah the happiest is for a new relationship to commence and that relationship being between myself and his mother and he started to drop little hints here and there and one of them being just to give you an example when i dropped him off to her house uh two days ago i gave him Like, you know, he in the car, give him a kiss on a cheek. He gets out of the car. He's like, don't you want to come in and give mom a kiss? These are things that he would never say. Like, he's never said that.

00:35:37 - 00:35:42 | Speaker 3:

And is he saying it in a jokey way? Or is he like, it's like half joking, half serious.

00:35:42 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 2:

It's half joking. Yeah. Initially, and this isn't the first time that he's said it.

00:35:45 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 1:

He would joke about that? Never. Not until he's saying. Not until. You say half joking. You really, I mean, you think he was really joking or you think he's probably serious?

00:35:53 - 00:36:30 | Speaker 2:

When I ask, because I mean, I talk to Josiah like I talk to y'all. And I've done that ever since, you know, ever since he was born. So we have real conversations. I was like, are you, do you, you think that, you know, or would you like from your mother and I to get together? He's like, you know, you know. I'm like, you keep saying these things. He's like, I'm just joking. But I asked his therapist about it too, and she said that he brought it up in therapy. So I don't think that he's fully joking. I mean, and what child doesn't want that? Right. You know what I mean? Like that's what he wants to see his mom and his dad be together. That would be perfect for him not to have to wake up on Christmas and, like, FaceTime somebody. He want to be there off of us.

00:36:30 - 00:36:34 | Speaker 1:

Have you asked his mom if she does the same to her where he says to her?

00:36:34 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's mentioned it.

00:36:35 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

00:36:35 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 2:

Like, I remember having to pee real quick. And, like, we done been, Jasmine and I are in such a better place right now. And I thank God that we've both matured. I was 22 when I had Josiah. She was 21. So we were kids. You know what I mean? And we've gotten to a place now where we're very mature. And we've always put Josiah at the center of it all. And if you visually look at that, that means there's a separation between us. And now we're at a point where we're more together than ever, which is healthy for Josiah. So I'm saying all this to say for a while, I didn't know where she lived. She didn't know where I lived. And we've lived in different places. Isn't that crazy? Bro, I'm telling you, we was petty as hell like that. I've been there. Bro, for real.

00:37:12 - 00:37:20 | Speaker 4:

And for Josiah now to be in a place where you're in a much better place with his mom. There is that even more like spark of hope. Bro, yeah.

00:37:20 - 00:37:46 | Speaker 2:

And he can see it, the way that we converse. He can hear the love in our conversation. So I say all that to say, I needed to use the bathroom when I picked him up. And for her to allow me to come in and pee is a huge step. So when I hugged Josiah, or Josiah hugged his mom to leave, he's like, let's make it a family hug. And it's like one of those things, all right. When I wasn't like, damn, I don't really want to do this. But it was those moments, that moment where her and I looked at each other like, okay, let's do this for Joe.

00:37:46 - 00:37:57 | Speaker 3:

And I'm going to ask the question that I already know the answer to, but I want you to answer for everybody who's listening right now because they're probably thinking it. Is that even a possibility for you and Jasmine to get back together?

00:37:57 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm a firm believer of never say never because I've done things that I've said I never would. And I felt like things have happened in my life that I thought never would happen. There's a 99.9% chance that it will never happen, though. I'll leave that point wrong for something.

00:38:14 - 00:38:16 | Speaker 1:

On whose part? Your part? My part, yeah.

00:38:16 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 2:

I'm a firm believer on standing on business, bro. And you have to put yourself in a position to succeed no matter the situation. And before you love anybody, you have to love yourself. And when there are things that can contradict that love that you have for yourself and can potentially push you over the edge, don't put yourself in those situations.

00:38:39 - 00:39:01 | Speaker 1:

I would ask the listeners this, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Has this ever happened to you? And if it did, has anybody ever had it happen to them? And you guys did get back together. So you got back together with your child's parent and it was because your child was the one that was asking for it to happen. Because that's something out of like, it's like a Hallmark movie.

00:39:02 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 3:

We know, we know somebody it just happened to. Our friend Joe. It just happened. You know, Joe.

00:39:07 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, Joe.

00:39:08 - 00:39:23 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if he wants me to say his full name. I'm not going to, but he and his wife got divorced. They had two kids. They dated other people. They moved into separate houses. Sorry, I had to mouth it to Megan until she knew. And they got back together. They did. Good for them. And they're very, very happy.

00:39:24 - 00:39:47 | Speaker 1:

Well, it's interesting. And in that case, it's an interesting one, too, because their child was older. Children. Her children were older. So it wasn't like they were little kids. So similar to probably Josiah, too. Because I wonder sometimes, like, when you see your kids being little, you know, because there has been times, I'm sure, I'm sure, Shannon, you had this, too. but you have these moments where your kids are little and you just go, I just want our family.

00:39:48 - 00:40:00 | Speaker 2:

She wasn't trying to get on like that. I asked her, I vividly remember asking her, this may be like four or five years ago. I'm like, listen, do you want to try this? Like, do you want to give it a shot? And she was like, no.

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. I think she was dating somebody else and now they even broke up. So you're lost. Hey, D, what's going on?

00:40:06 - 00:40:07 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:40:08 - 00:40:11 | Speaker 5:

I see it to her face. You know. You chose violence earlier.

00:40:11 - 00:40:17 | Speaker 2:

You have this beautiful thing about girls and respecting each other. And then, ha, ha.

00:40:17 - 00:40:22 | Speaker 6:

I should have gone to the call fast so I didn't say that. D, what's up, D?

00:40:23 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 4:

So, Kev, what you talking about, about backtracking. And my grandma told me when I was young, when you take out the trash, make sure it's trash. Don't go back dunster diving.

00:40:34 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 6:

Well, but yeah, please let's not say that because Josiah's mom is not trash and Josiah's mom.

00:40:40 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 4:

Not at all, not at all, but in relation to relationship.

00:40:44 - 00:41:18 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and actually I've had the pleasure to talk to Josiah's mom just by hearing, Kev was on speakerphone talking about something, arranging something for Josiah. And I actually said, hey, I'm going to interrupt this conversation. I am so incredibly proud of the two of you guys for how you guys talk with each other and how you talk about your son. I'm blessed. And I was very in this was actually you were in Sherell were together and you were you guys were so kind to each other, but also kind to, you know, the others, too.

00:41:18 - 00:41:29 | Speaker 5:

So and if you if you think Josiah is amazing, trust me, it's not all me. his mom is a huge piece of why josiah is who he is leo what's up it's mojo in the morning

00:41:29 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 3:

uh good morning uh yeah so i had a similar situation where me and my son dad we split up when he was really young before he was a year old and in like early 2003 no 2023 i got really sick and his dad was the one who took care of me and during that we all got back together as like a family and my son was really he loved it at first but then he also kind of struggled because he was so used to us living separately and having you know a routine at his dad's and a routine at his mom so when we all got together he was you know now there's two people who discipline and now there's you know we don't spend a lot of one-on-one time together and so he struggled with that a little bit and then we were together for two years and then we separated again yeah it's tough you

00:42:16 - 00:42:57 | Speaker 6:

got to if you're going to do it you got to make sure that you're going to do it and you're going to you know nothing's ever guaranteed in life but it's almost like one of those things where all you're doing is yo-yoing your kids if it keeps going back and forth and i feel those kids just have to be really stressed out of the whole situation you know i will say this to you uh kevin i i really appreciate you bringing this to the air because i think this is about as real as you can possibly get and um i think that it's awesome that josiah does still feel the love of the two of you and thinks that so important and thinks that mom and dad potentially could love each other because that means that your relationship is good but also like wes always

00:42:57 - 00:43:15 | Speaker 1:

says this to me it's kind of like our mantra like you have to remind your kids kids of of divorced families that they were created in love like at you know at one point in the story there was a lot of love between mom and dad. And that, you know, that is part of their story.

00:43:15 - 00:43:16 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Erica, what's up?

00:43:18 - 00:43:18 | Speaker 1:

Hey.

00:43:19 - 00:43:27 | Speaker 2:

So, my parents got divorced when I was born and then remarried when I was 18.

00:43:28 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 6:

Oh my gosh. How did that make you feel as an adult? All of a sudden you see her, because I would think that it would be icky to see your parents all of a sudden kissing again.

00:43:37 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 2:

I hated it. it was um it was really hard for me because um my because my dad was never in the picture uh when I was growing up um I never I never met him um so it was really really tough for me and

00:43:56 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 6:

um yeah it was really hard but could I ask this did was it because you you had such baggage and in uh trauma from him doing that did you eventually grow to love this or did it work out um yeah i'll

00:44:11 - 00:44:49 | Speaker 2:

tell you um actually um i i made him pay um like by my love actually for my for some years um which i'm not proud of it was not uh to forgive him for what happened yeah yeah um because you know um He had other children, and he was married prior to my mom, and then divorced my mom, and then had other kids, so this was not something, I mean, this was like a pattern for him, so.

00:44:50 - 00:44:51 | Speaker 6:

Are they still together right now?

00:44:52 - 00:44:56 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, after, you know, I'm 53, so.

00:44:56 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, wow, okay, that's a while back.

00:44:59 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so.

00:45:00 - 00:45:25 | Speaker 3:

So he's my dad, and, you know, I have my siblings are, you know, I have other siblings, and, you know, we're not close. I do have one of my sisters. I'm close with one of my sisters, but my other siblings I'm not really close with. But, yeah, it was kind of a learning thing.

00:45:26 - 00:45:35 | Speaker 1:

Does it give you therapy to talk to us? Because, listen, you're talking right now, and I can tell that this is something that is not easy. You probably don't talk about very much, but it sounds to me like this is calling us.

00:45:36 - 00:45:58 | Speaker 3:

I did go through therapy a lot, and I talked to my friends a lot. And, you know, I did kind of, you know, get to have a wall with my mom for a little while, but got through it. And, you know, yeah, it helps talking to it, talking to people.

00:45:59 - 00:46:14 | Speaker 1:

I can't, by the way, I got to go because literally the show is going to be over in 1030 and I feel like I'm going to be talking to you all day. Literally, no offense, I feel like I'm giving you your therapy of today. Make an appointment at the counter and we'll talk to you next week, okay?

00:46:15 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 3:

By the way, first time on time. Hey there. I remember her name has been so long.

00:46:20 - 00:46:30 | Speaker 1:

I know, it's Erica. Erica on the phone! Her name is still Erica. Holy Jesus. That, by the way, phone call was longer than Kev's relationship with Josiah's wife.

00:46:30 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I feel like a Thomas is warranted. Don't. Just leave it. Just leave it. Just leave it.

00:46:39 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 2:

Or. Leave it.

00:46:40 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. How long it took to make you three kids? Oh, man. Come on. Your mama's so fat. shannon is wondering if she got scammed you think you got scammed i think so um i want to say i

00:47:01 - 00:48:36 | Speaker 2:

talked about this this thing that my daughter wanted a couple of months ago uh she's in fifth grade and there's these hoodies that i think were made popular on tiktok which she doesn't have tiktok so i don't know how she heard about this but especially among the swifties they're called pink palm puff hoodies yeah okay so to me it looks like a sweatshirt that you could get at like a touristy shop in florida but whatever yeah like they all want one right now so i kept telling her no no no no but she has just like made some milestones in some areas of her life and so i was like okay i'm gonna surprise her and tweet her i ordered this thing from the official website because you can get the knockoffs on Teemu, by the way, for like six bucks. But I ordered an official one on the actual website on August 19th. Okay. And it said that I would get it within three to four. They would ship it out within like three to four business days. I still haven't gotten it. And it is now October 1st. And so I emailed them once and they were like, oh, yeah, here, like we're going to, this is your new tracking information. You'll get it in 10 to 12 days. Okay. well 12 days passed so i emailed them again and she's like i don't know what's wrong with your order here's a new tracking number like we'll send out another one same thing never got it 12 days later so i'm like what the heck i feel like i got scammed and i'm never getting this thing and i just need to call my credit card and have the charge removed because you know and you went

00:48:36 - 00:48:43 | Speaker 1:

you went first to their site to go order that's where i ordered it from yeah so it wasn't like Amazon or any of that stuff.

00:48:43 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 2:

But I'm like, but the site only has, like, six things on it. Yeah. Like, I think this was created by, like, some girl. I don't know the story. Some girl, like, teenage girl. I don't know. Am I a sucker? One more time. What's it called? Pink. It's like a tongue twister. Pink Palm Puff. Yeah. Okay. And I see the charge on my credit card, so I was charged for it. But even the charge, like, looks funky to me.

00:49:07 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 1:

You know what this reminds me of? This reminds me of when you bought.

00:49:10 - 00:49:11 | Speaker 2:

The Barbie Dreamhouse.

00:49:12 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, you've had a couple of them. When you bought, there's two of them. The Barbie Dreamhouse, which I'm going to have you explain that story in a second. But then also the mini leaf blower.

00:49:22 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 2:

No, but that, you keep thinking that that was not.

00:49:25 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 1:

You got scammed on that.

00:49:27 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 2:

No, it was supposed to be mini.

00:49:28 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 1:

You did?

00:49:28 - 00:49:33 | Speaker 2:

Yes, it was that. I got what I wanted. You wanted a mini leaf blower. Yes. By the way, Amazon for that.

00:49:33 - 00:49:35 | Speaker 1:

Tell the Barbie Dreamhouse one.

00:49:35 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 2:

The Barbie Dreamhouse story, I typed in this Barbie Dreamhouse that she wanted because there's a few different ones. this was for christmas a couple of years ago and this like barbie site came up and the thing was like on special for i don't know 39.99 these things are like 140 you know but i'm like oh it must be a it was a flash sale so i like

00:50:00 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 3:

And the site looked legit. It wasn't Mattel, but it was like Barbie.com or something that made sense to me. I am dumb is what I'm saying.

00:50:11 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 5:

And what was it that came?

00:50:12 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 3:

Nothing.

00:50:12 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 5:

Nothing.

00:50:13 - 00:50:14 | Speaker 3:

Nothing came.

00:50:15 - 00:50:16 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:50:16 - 00:50:17 | Speaker 3:

Nothing came. I've had this happen to me.

00:50:18 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 5:

Don't feel bad about it. I had this happen to me. I ordered what I thought was a customized hat that I thought, I'm going to do one offshoot of it just to see if uh if i liked it and it was a customized hat to buy a um just to give away to listeners and it was like this embroidery shop that that uh came up that said you can customize the hat yeah yeah so i did the mojo in the morning logo i have it at home the hat literally would fit not even smith it would be it would be actually small on smith it was like a little kid hat

00:50:52 - 00:51:28 | Speaker 3:

You guys, too. I cannot be mean. And so I'm like, that's it. I'm sending an email. I'm so pissed about this. It's on Friday. On Friday, this is the email I send to them. Hello again. I am getting concerned about this. I ordered this hoodie on August 19th, never received it. Emailed several days ago and was provided tracking information. But it was simply this email saying a label had been created. Nothing has been shipped. I would like an immediate response to this email in terms of what's going on, or I will dispute the charge via my credit card company and take further action. That's me. That's you being angry. That's me being angry. In all caps. Angry. Yeah. And an emoji. That was very angry. That's pink hearts for people.

00:51:28 - 00:51:40 | Speaker 1:

Do you remember when Obama had his, what is the one that they do for press? That dinner where they tell Joe. Oh, the correspondence dinner. And they had Keegan-Michael Key come and be his anger translator. You need that weird email.

00:51:42 - 00:52:32 | Speaker 4:

I do remember that. Man, I got scanned one time. There were some really expensive shoes that I wanted. Some black loafers. They had like these metal plates on the top and the back fired. but they cost a grip and i didn't have the bread so i tried to like google around it and try to like google and try to find something that was cheaper but the same pair but wound up finding the site the deal was too good to be true it's kind of like what you're saying where it's slash 649 dollars for sale by now three days yeah the countdown clock i knew it was a scam but i still pressed buy i knew it was a scam yeah because when i bought it through my paypal it switched from the name of the site to like donate at brenda.com and i was like donate like this don't start yeah scam still don't have it couldn't dispute the charge because it was a whole bunch

00:52:32 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 5:

of things you know what you need be careful you need like the problem solvers or rob wall checks hall of shame you know that's what you need you need like that you need one of these guys from one of the for me the tv state yeah you need like them to do to do a story no no hank help me hank he's he's not mean enough you need that rob walchek guy i love all of shame you know whatever you need to have him do it because he's going to find out he's going to find out that it's some dude in another country that's probably it's not even he's like a 16 year old girl who created

00:53:07 - 00:53:15 | Speaker 3:

these things and i'm like oh i'm contributing to this little female entrepreneur and no it's a It's some 60-year-old creep-all.

00:53:15 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 5:

Hairy guy, half-bald, with hair all over his back. What's up, Lanisa? It's Vanessa, but I was just calling to let you know. I haven't gotten one goddamn name right today. He said that's me. One? That's the second one. Sure, Mo. How you doing, how are you? I'm good. I'm calling Rob Walchek on you, Lydia.

00:53:36 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 1:

You're acting like her name is Kim, and Lydia put down Vanessa.

00:53:40 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:53:42 - 00:53:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm just calling in to say I ordered four of those sweatshirts, and it took about 45 days.

00:53:47 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 5:

45. It's going to be hot outside.

00:53:48 - 00:53:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so there's still hope.

00:53:50 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 5:

No, it'll be perfect. You want the sweatshirts when it's colder. Why are you buying it in the summertime? It'll be a whole different season. They probably don't think that she can wear it right now. That's amazing that it took that long. Were you also like Shannon? Were you like getting contact wondering what the hell's going on?

00:54:05 - 00:54:35 | Speaker 2:

I would ask my daughter, have your sweatshirts came yet? And she'd be like, no, Mom. You just have to be patient. I say, pissing after two weeks is a long time, honey. And they're not cheap. So, like, you want them. They're not cheap. In what world? They're not cheap. But hopefully you get the embroidered ones because they have somewhere, they just have, like, the glue on there. Those were the first ones that went out. Now they're hand stitching or whatever you call it.

00:54:35 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 5:

And the first ones were bad, huh? I understand that, all this.

00:54:38 - 00:54:46 | Speaker 2:

The first ones was her friends have some, and they think they got the knockoff because hers or my daughter's is stitched in.

00:54:46 - 00:54:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, okay. What's going on, John?

00:54:51 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, about two weeks ago, the wife and I were at the store. We were walking through. It was Sunday, and I wanted to.

00:55:00 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 1:

watch the lions game so i got on my phone and i paid a buck this this thing said you you pay a dollar and i could watch the game i put my card in there and didn't even get to watch the game because it switched me to a whole bunch of other stuff and then the very by the end of the night

00:55:16 - 00:55:22 | Speaker 3:

they hit my account for 90 bucks oh you were watching it on an app somewhere well i was trying

00:55:22 - 00:55:39 | Speaker 1:

to watch it on yeah i was trying to watch okay yeah and i clicked it for i clicked on it for It said it was going to cost a dollar. I was like, okay, I could spring a dollar. And then later on that night, I got hit for 90 bucks. So I went right back to the bank Monday morning and I canceled it.

00:55:39 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you got to be careful.

00:55:40 - 00:55:43 | Speaker 2:

I just know your bank saw that and was like, you deserve this.

00:55:45 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 1:

I'll bet you I have had to replace my card like 20 times. They know that I'm an idiot.

00:55:58 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 3:

Win tickets to see Kendrick Lamar and SZA. We've got them for you. You just got to text in to win. Text Mustard right now to 95500, and you could be going to Ford Field in June. That's Mustard. Text that to 95500. Standard text and data rates to apply. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-Mojo-Live, 844-665-6548. Megan has cried two times already on the show. Oh, well, guess what? We're going to make it the trifecta.

00:56:29 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no, no, no. And I really think the other one was just back-to-back bad times. That was just emotional. Can't do something serious after a B&E break. It's just Niagara Falls, Frankie Angel. I did cry the other day, though, and it was very, very bad. And I'd like to set this up by acknowledging, before I even tell you this whole story, I understand I should not have cried. That's actually the whole point of this story, It's the very small, minuscule thing that just set you over the edge. But I had a really long day a couple of days ago, and I was just, you know, doing things later than I expected. You ever have an expectation of your time? Like, at least I'll be home by, like, 5 o'clock, even if it's a long day, and I can still get some dinner. And it was looking like I wasn't going to get home until 830-ish. And then I hit some really severe downtown Detroit traffic. and a drive that would normally take me about four to five minutes took roughly an hour and I was just stuck and really at the end of my rope and I was sitting at a light and there are cops everywhere directing traffic because this congestion is so bad and I'm sitting in the middle of an intersection and there's nowhere for me to go there are people everywhere there are cars everywhere I cannot move forward and this cop walks up to my window which I'm like starting to roll down and he was like move your gd vehicle and i literally oh dead serious dead serious and

00:58:01 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 3:

i'm looking around and i'm like i think he's talking to me at this point i cannot move my

00:58:09 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 2:

vehicle and i would really like to be able to move my vehicle like there's nothing i want more in this moment than to be able to move sir what did he do he just walked away and started yelling at other people oh he didn't even stop and like he sold you did not care he looked at me like that's a weird reaction to that and i was just it's one of those traffic cops huh like the guys that are in the middle of traffic yes just sitting in my car crying people are walking by my car looking at me like is she okay i don't really care we still gotta go we gotta place it to be nobody's stopping i'm thankfully nobody is stopping but i can't move my car and i realized this cop just told me to move because there's a big traffic jam and it just i couldn't stop

00:58:49 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 3:

sobbing in my car this actually could be a very funny i think this could be a funny topic not a sad topic so we're not going to make megan cry no no no i want it to be funny here's here's the topic what is the most like out of the the normal thing that made you cry what was it that made you cry like you're having one of those days and then finally something just set it off and for megan's case it was the cop just yelling at her to move and uh and she just had her had her point at that What was yours? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Lydia, can you go through phone lines and get some really funny ones for us?

00:59:25 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 1:

I can try. You can't do that to me, Lydia. You okay, Lydia? Jingle ball, I am scratched.

00:59:34 - 00:59:37 | Speaker 3:

Can you? What would make you cry, Lydia?

00:59:38 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 1:

Everything makes me cry. You know that.

00:59:39 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 3:

I know. But what would, like today, like if Tony Travato said to you, But hey, Lydia, let's do three more wishes today.

00:59:47 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 1:

No, I'll throw up. That's not even crying. That'll make me throw up.

00:59:51 - 00:59:53 | Speaker 3:

It's very stressful to put together these wishes.

00:59:54 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 2:

I had one the other day. You know those days that you just like, this is my to-do list for today. We all do this.

01:00:00 - 01:00:38 | Speaker 1:

the studio. We write these dang to-do lists and after the show we're so tired and the only thing I want to do is take a nap but I usually have a bunch of crap that I need to get done before the kids get home from school and it was so stupid but the last thing on my list was to go to Whole Foods because my kids all four of them only like Whole Foods frozen pizza. I go to Whole Foods and I stock up. I usually get like four, five, six of them. I go and there's only one kind they like the four cheese they have zero i literally could feel the frog frog in my throat for me and i go to the checkout with my other crap i'm like i am literally about to cry over a 5.99 frozen pizza

01:00:38 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 2:

but that was my day if you just got a ring just if you just got another pizza no it's not they

01:00:44 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 1:

would not recognize it is not the same it is this one specific it's the yellow cardboard box

01:00:49 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 2:

the just cheese and that just did me in what is the craziest thing that made you cry the most emotional time of your life and if you missed any of megan crying early this morning it's going to be in promos you'll see it you'll hear it on the air she has a heart the woman has a maybe it's

01:01:08 - 01:01:13 | Speaker 1:

the holidays that's setting you up maybe that's what it is maybe i just um it's making you making

01:01:13 - 01:01:26 | Speaker 2:

you feel emotional people knowing that i have feelings i think it's wonderful you have a hate We love your feelings. Bojo in the morning. Hi, Cindy. Hi. Hey, Cindy. What was the craziest thing that made you cry?

01:01:27 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if it was crazy. On one of the sat Tuesdays, it was like six years ago, but I was like six months pregnant and we were going to his house to enjoy our poochki for the day. And I was debating of what flavor I was going to have. I told my husband, well, maybe I'll have a dirt or whatever. And I said, well, maybe I'll have two. one for me and one for the baby and then that there turned into a whole discussion that that was like too much for the baby and i pulled myself together we got to our friend's house and um the husband is okay well what flavor do you want and i just broke down in a full-on meltdown and tears and this poor guy had no idea the whole discussion by the way you don't ever ever

01:02:13 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 2:

let a pregnant woman go without whatever she wants to eat even if it's two poonskis because She is feeding that baby. And the worst is.

01:02:21 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 5:

Amen.

01:02:22 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 2:

The worst is, Cindy, if you go to the bakery to go get them, and the bakery goes, we're all out of poonskies.

01:02:28 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 5:

Niagara Falls. Oh, my. That would have been even worse, probably. Oh, my God. And, by the way, first time long time. Poonski on the phone.

01:02:38 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Thanks, Cindy.

01:02:40 - 01:02:46 | Speaker 5:

I love you listening to you every morning. I'm usually a podcast listener, so I love catching you live. Oh, that's awesome.

01:02:46 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 2:

And then you get to participate like you just did, which is pretty cool.

01:02:48 - 01:02:57 | Speaker 4:

and tell your friends Giuseppe okay hello Giuseppe hello I just I want to start by saying first time

01:02:57 - 01:03:08 | Speaker 2:

long time as well as well Giuseppe what made you cry what's the craziest go ahead so I had a long

01:03:08 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 4:

day at work it was I was uh usually I start at nine and at eight uh p.m. and uh you know they made me stay longer and I had to drop off a customer at their house and when I dropped them off they just gave me you know two little like snacks and it just I don't know once they left

01:03:27 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 2:

that was it was just tears wait so you dropped off a customer and they were hey we're gonna feed this guy and that nice gesture got you all balled up yeah it was like it was like happy tears

01:03:41 - 01:03:45 | Speaker 4:

But, like, at the same time, I was like, I didn't want to stay long to drop this guy off.

01:03:46 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you didn't want to stay. So you were crying because you were upset. The guy was trying to give you something nice, a nice gesture. But you were like, oh, putty, I got to get to my next call. Giuseppe, are you having phone? What service do you have? I don't even know. I don't want to say because they're probably an advertiser. Shauna, are you there?

01:04:04 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I'm here.

01:04:06 - 01:04:10 | Speaker 2:

Shauna, question for you. Is it alcohol related?

01:04:11 - 01:04:14 | Speaker 3:

It is alcohol-related. I love it.

01:04:14 - 01:04:16 | Speaker 2:

This is going to be good. Alcohol makes me cry.

01:04:17 - 01:04:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, I wish I was drinking at the time, but I wasn't drinking. What was it? I had, yesterday was my mom's birthday. I had just got off work. I put together a gift of all of her favorite things, including a big bottle of rum, a half-gallon bottle. And as I was walking to her house from my car, all of a sudden the bag dropped. The booze went everywhere, all over, like, the raisinets that I got her and everything. And it was either the cake was going to fall or the bag. And, yeah, the bag fell.

01:04:53 - 01:04:56 | Speaker 2:

So you lost, what was it that you lost? What was in the bag?

01:04:57 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

It was a bottle of Bacardi in there, some raisin.

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 1:

That's some Raisin Dats. No, not the Raisin Dats.

01:05:03 - 01:05:05 | Speaker 6:

Raisin Dats used to go so hard. Oh, my God, I love Raisin Dats.

01:05:05 - 01:05:09 | Speaker 4:

The lotion was all good. Lotion. And all of that was all good, but, like, yeah.

01:05:10 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 6:

You know what I would have done? I would have given up the cake for the Bacardi.

01:05:13 - 01:05:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:05:14 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 6:

You know, everybody can eat it. They can whip off the whipped cream off the side of the little plastic container that the cake was in. You would have been fine.

01:05:24 - 01:05:26 | Speaker 3:

I was a mess, and this was yesterday.

01:05:26 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 6:

Do me a favor, go see my buddy Louie at the Brass Mug in Livonia, and he'll get you a bottle of Bacardi on Mojo. I'll put it on my bill, okay?

01:05:34 - 01:05:35 | Speaker 4:

All right, thanks, Mojo.

01:05:35 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 6:

We love you. Love you. Take care of yourself. What's up, Tracy? How are you? You know what, Tracy? I'm doing good, but I've got to be honest with you. The pausing that listeners have been giving me on the phone lines today are going to make me cry.

01:05:50 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 3:

That's annoying.

01:05:51 - 01:05:58 | Speaker 6:

There's a lot of people that, hey, how you doing? And they're like, five seconds, three, four, two, one. Oh, good. How are you doing? I don't know if it's already.

01:05:58 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 3:

Well, I just really have to think about their answer.

01:06:00 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 6:

That could be. You know what? It's Monday. What's going on? What makes you cry?

01:06:04 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 3:

A few years ago, I left an appointment that was pretty emotional. And so I was driving to visit some family or friends. And I was like, all I want is to go to this fast food place. I don't know if I'm allowed to say it. Sure. So went to Taco Bell. All I wanted was a breakfast contract, like, that's it, and a Mountain Dew. Like, I just want this to make me happy, and they were no longer serving breakfast. No.

01:06:32 - 01:06:33 | Speaker 5:

Okay, that is the worst.

01:06:33 - 01:06:44 | Speaker 3:

I feel that one. I started bawling, and I had to, like, pull out of the line, because I couldn't even think of what else I could possibly order, because that was all I wanted. And I was just driving crying.

01:06:44 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 1:

All these places, it should be the same. All day, you should be able to get breakfast. Correct. It's all the same stuff anyway.

01:06:52 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 6:

By the way, Taco Bell doesn't run out of anything. Because you know why? Taco Bell has the same ingredients in all their stuff.

01:07:02 - 01:07:06 | Speaker 5:

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, right? Yes, please call me on that one.

01:07:06 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 1:

Everything on the menu, just with the egg. Yeah, come on. I want that tone to play every time I talk. Do you know we drove past a Taco Bell the other day and my kids go, what is that place? I'm like, I am the worst mother. ever. I've never taken my

01:07:24 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 6:

children to Taco Bell. You take your daughter for a seedy massage, but you don't

01:07:28 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 1:

take her to Taco Bell? It's not seedy. It was just a little different. You need

01:07:32 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 6:

to take her to Taco Bell. She'll love it. I know. Make her taste buds enjoy that. They'll get off of Whole Foods pizza. I'm telling you. It's healthier for her. There's a lot of protein in Taco Bell.

01:07:42 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 4:

What's going on? Hey, my cantina menu.

01:07:43 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 6:

What's going on, Jamie? Hi.

01:07:46 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 4:

Hi. How are you?

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 6:

What's happening?

01:07:48 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 4:

I think I could top the last caller, but When I was pregnant, I was looking in the refrigerator for a spatula and stayed on the kitchen floor for 20 minutes after I think that the spatula was in my left hand. Oh, no. I would lose it.

01:08:07 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 6:

I've done that before with my phone. Like, I was holding my phone, literally talking on the phone, and, like, I lost my phone. I can't wait. And the person that's on the phone goes, hey, I think you're calling me on the phone.

01:08:17 - 01:08:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's my daily life, okay?

01:08:19 - 01:08:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. I love it.

01:08:20 - 01:08:24 | Speaker 4:

Or they'll be like, let me call your phone to help you find it. And I'm like, okay, call it.

01:08:26 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 6:

Rhonda, what's going on? Rhonda, we're talking about how Megan had a day from hell, and the simplest thing made her cry. What makes you cry?

01:08:36 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 2:

It's Wanda, but it's okay most of the time.

01:08:37 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 5:

Oh, no, you're going to get me. It's okay.

01:08:45 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 6:

I got two and a half hours sleep last night.

01:08:50 - 01:08:54 | Speaker 4:

Wanda, I apologize.

01:08:57 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so I...

01:09:00 - 01:09:02 | Speaker 6:

She could care less. I'm crying. Go ahead, yes.

01:09:03 - 01:09:23 | Speaker 2:

So today, actually today, yesterday, I get annoyed my dog pees on my Christmas tree. That son of a bitch. Every year, it's always, it's just the one little branch. And now I have my two dogs. So when one dog goes to pee, he'll go behind him and do the same thing. and our cleanup is constantly cleaning up. I'm so tired.

01:09:23 - 01:09:36 | Speaker 6:

Chelsea yells at me because I yell at the dogs like they're my children, and she's like, they don't understand what you're saying. They do. Yes, they do. They look right at me as they're peeing right on the kitchen table.

01:09:36 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 1:

On the kitchen table.

01:09:37 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 6:

They pee. My kids pee on the kitchen table. My dogs, whatever the heck, the leg of the kitchen table, they like to pee.

01:09:46 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 1:

I thought you meant they got up on the kitchen table and peed.

01:09:49 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 6:

no if they did that if they did that i would beat their ass i would be like get off there um but yeah wanda i get what you're saying thank you for uh calling in and and letting us get it

01:10:00 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 4:

your chest hopefully it worked right a little bit yeah mojo do you have the one about the horse no nobody on the phone lines okay i gotta tell you my favorite text we got was i'm pregnant and i cried the other day because i saw a horse alone in a field and it was raining and i thought it

01:10:15 - 01:10:23 | Speaker 2:

was lonely that person has to be like metamora or something i feel like that's where all the

01:10:23 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 4:

the horse people are that's it was in 419 so sometimes it's the area okay well that's

01:10:29 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 2:

down there that's beautiful yeah hold on it's a good one shelby are you there hi i am first time

01:10:37 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 4:

last one on this one what made you cry okay so i'm very uncoordinated but despite that i really wanted to try going to a zumba class so i tried to have a good attitude i showed up and um i accidentally kicked someone in the leg but she had a prosthetic leg oh my god oh god oh my god i literally was so embarrassed and i haven't done zumba again

01:11:06 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 2:

by the way did the prosthetic come off or did you just it did it feel like you hit it like a

01:11:13 - 01:11:20 | Speaker 4:

piece of wood or something it felt really hard and she ended up telling me after the class oh no i I mean, the good news is it didn't hurt her, right?

01:11:20 - 01:11:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's right.

01:11:21 - 01:11:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. You know what? That is so true.

01:11:23 - 01:11:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. See? There's a bright spot to everything. Thank you for the call, Shelby.

01:11:28 - 01:11:29 | Speaker 1:

You know these songs?

01:11:29 - 01:11:32 | Speaker 4:

Everybody get up. So time.

01:11:33 - 01:11:34 | Unknown:

My baby doll.

01:11:35 - 01:11:42 | Speaker 1:

Play along with the Throwback Throwdown. Mojo in the Morning's Throwback Throwdown. This morning at 8 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:11:42 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 2:

All right. It's Mojo in the Morning show. Oh, you know what? We got so much stuff to get to. We've got so much stuff to talk about today. The phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Text is 95500. Yesterday, we did a topic on the air that had some amazing telephone calls. And I was very excited that we had so many people willing to share with us the dumb things that caused a fight after you guys had sex. Go listen to the podcast of it. It was awesome.

01:12:11 - 01:12:11 | Speaker 4:

It was a great segment.

01:12:12 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 2:

This came up today, and I thought it was really interesting. And I wanted to go around the room and see what you guys' thoughts are on this. The question is, with your partner, are you willing to tell your partner your deepest, darkest, and craziest intimate fantasies? A study has shown that over 69% of the people that participated in this survey had previously disclosed their sexual fantasies to a partner. Of those, more than 80% found it to be a positive experience. And I wanted to ask this question. Should you share your intimate fantasies with your partner? And if you did, would your partner look at you weird if you did? Like, if you told your partner, I have just had this crazy dream of you tying me up, you know, or whatever.

01:13:09 - 01:13:09 | Speaker 3:

Keep going, keep going.

01:13:10 - 01:13:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, you really want me to tell you?

01:13:12 - 01:13:13 | Speaker 3:

Go, go, go.

01:13:13 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 2:

Tie me up and put Betty Crocker frosting all over my body for me to lick off myself.

01:13:21 - 01:13:29 | Speaker 4:

This is my little meaty bear pause. I'd like a snack. That's what I want. But it's got to be the Funfetti.

01:13:29 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 2:

Well, Funfetti, no, because if I don't get some of it, I might have a little bit of Funfetti stuck in place.

01:13:35 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 4:

You just want someone to feed you.

01:13:37 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 2:

But honestly, I'll be honest When I see this set and I see that 69% of people have done it I don't think I've ever told Chelsea any of my sexual fantasies I mean, I've told her Some kink stuff that I was kind of like Excited about, she gave me weird looks at it before But I would worry that if I told her All my sexual fantasies She would think I'm watching either too much porn Or, you know Cheating on her or something You know what I mean?

01:14:03 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

What are you into?

01:14:05 - 01:14:20 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, sexual fantasies are usually more than just, you know, the normal sex thing. Like, it would be, I would like to, in my relationship, do a little bit more role-playing. I think it would be kind of fun. Do you guys role-play ever in your relationships? Like, I would like to occasionally.

01:14:21 - 01:14:23 | Speaker 3:

No, I don't think I'd really be role-playing like that.

01:14:23 - 01:14:27 | Speaker 2:

I don't know about you, but I like Halloween because we get to be somebody that we're not, you know?

01:14:27 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. I don't think I have crazy fantasies, though.

01:14:31 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah?

01:14:31 - 01:14:56 | Speaker 3:

Like, when I hear the word fantasy, it takes my mind somewhere wild. And I don't think I'm – like, I'm more of an exhibitionist. Like, if that was my fantasy thing, like, I'm good in public places. Like, that's kind of my thing. That would go into the fantasy category, I feel like. Well, yeah. Well, that's – okay, well, yeah. I want to join the Mile High Club. Yeah. And I don't know if we were supposed to – You don't have to say what they are.

01:14:56 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, okay, never mind. Go ahead. No, go ahead. Go ahead. Okay, we out.

01:15:00 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 3:

I want to join a mile high club in an airplane, and I want to do it on a helicopter tour.

01:15:06 - 01:15:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, those are intimate, dude.

01:15:08 - 01:15:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. We're getting intimate.

01:15:10 - 01:15:11 | Speaker 1:

Myflighttours.com.

01:15:12 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 3:

Are they sponsored? They are. I wonder if they would let you do it.

01:15:15 - 01:15:15 | Speaker 1:

They are.

01:15:16 - 01:15:16 | Speaker 3:

I wonder if that would be something.

01:15:16 - 01:16:16 | Speaker 1:

Like, if you could book that? Wes and I talk about this all the time, and I have never felt as comfortable sexually in a relationship as I do with him. So, we talk about all the things. And there have been things that I have admitted to him, like concerning fantasies and just other things that I have never shared with anybody. And I've always like been like kind of scared to admit or ashamed to admit. And he like receives it so well. Why do you think? Um, I don't, I don't, I guess I've just never felt like safe or comfortable enough. Yeah. And he makes me feel that way. Um, that's dope. And by the way, that's not a, like, I don't mean that as a knock to, like, anybody else. I've just never, he has made, he has provided a very safe space for that. And he's really super open about it. So I don't feel like a huge weirdo, you know, if I admit something to him.

01:16:16 - 01:16:22 | Speaker 3:

Initial A wants to be voice disguised. Are you somebody that is able to share your fantasies with your significant other?

01:16:23 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 5:

I cannot. The funny thing is, in eight years, I've never been able to tell her any of my wants. But I have a bestie friend, and it's not sexual with her. She knows everything and calls my girlfriend the biggest prude, et cetera.

01:16:41 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 3:

Wait.

01:16:41 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 5:

She's trying to break you up, bro. Oh, she's married. Okay. She's still trying to break you up.

01:16:48 - 01:16:52 | Speaker 3:

Have you guys not had any attraction to each other?

01:16:52 - 01:17:03 | Speaker 5:

No. No, I swear on everything. We've never been intimate, never touched, never anything like that. She knows everyone I want, desires, but my girlfriend of almost eight years.

01:17:04 - 01:17:10 | Speaker 3:

If you let your girlfriend know that you're telling this other girl this, your girlfriend will never trust you with that girl ever again.

01:17:11 - 01:17:12 | Speaker 5:

I fully agree.

01:17:12 - 01:17:14 | Speaker 3:

Hell, I don't trust you with that girl.

01:17:15 - 01:17:18 | Speaker 5:

I don't even disagree with that at all. I can't even argue that.

01:17:18 - 01:17:30 | Speaker 3:

What if she says to you, you know, I'll do that with you? I mean, if she's calling her a prude, if she's saying that she's a prude, she's putting her down, there's something crazy going on there. Jamal, what's up?

01:17:31 - 01:18:09 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing, Mojo? Doing okay, buddy. What's up? Good morning. So, I'm like you, Mojo. I don't think mine is like a big fantasy. Me and my wife was just sharing yesterday about a little bit of what my fantasy is. So I recently just bought her, like, some, like, real bad girl sexy lingerie and basically just told her, well, yeah, that's, you know, that's part of my fantasy. But, you know, it's not, my fantasy is not no deep S&M type of stuff. Yeah. So I guess that's just the start of it, I want to say.

01:18:09 - 01:18:38 | Speaker 3:

Sure. You know what? That's kind of how you kind of tell them is by doing that. Like, you buy it for them and they're like, what's this? And just go, I just thought that, you know, I don't know how it would go over in a lot of relationships. I think in mine, it'd be easier for her to spread Betty Crocker all over me. She'd probably be like, nah, but I'll do the Betty Crocker one. But I don't know if I could get her to put it on, but I, the sexy outfit, but. Holly, what's going on?

01:18:39 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 4:

Hi, first time, long time. Holly's on the phone.

01:18:43 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 3:

And look what it took to get you to call. Sexual fantasies.

01:18:47 - 01:19:03 | Speaker 4:

I know. Well, me and my husband's been together for almost 10 years. I agree with Shannon. It was like once I got with him, it was like really comfortable. So I feel like we share all the time. And it's just like made our relationship even better, though. So, yeah.

01:19:03 - 01:19:13 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that nice to know that, that you guys have that, that you guys are able to share those fantasies with each other so that you're not sharing them with somebody else?

01:19:13 - 01:19:19 | Speaker 4:

yeah exactly so i think it just makes the relationship better if you can be open i guess

01:19:19 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 3:

all right here's the next part we're going to do a quick little turn off this uh highway of ours that we're doing i want to know the weirdest sexual fantasy your partner ever said to you and tell us what the hell you did like if you like okay hold on a second you're going to see somebody this is crazy like i want to know if there's any that have had some weird things like where the person you know did want uh you to do some weird stuff to them uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i want to i want to talk to the texter do we have him no oh okay somebody said

01:19:55 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 1:

that this is why he divorced his wife was because because she

01:20:00 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 3:

revealed her fantasies. I want to talk to that person so bad, Lydia.

01:20:03 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 1:

Coming up next. Mojo in the morning, we were just talking about how couples, they need to open up and talk about their fantasies in front of their significant others. according to a new survey that said that couples that do it say that they've had positive things that happened in their relationship but the problem is couples don't do it they don't want to do it uh gary real quick i want to grab gary is the first one here because i was uh telling my betty crocker fantasy uh gary what's going on gary hi oh hey what's going on gary you guys actually did the Betty Crocker fantasy? You guys did the frosting thing?

01:20:59 - 01:21:09 | Speaker 5:

Look, man, I heard you talking, and I had to call in and let you know. It's worth it, and make sure that it is homemade Betty Crocker cream, because if not, it tastes a little funky, you know?

01:21:11 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny? I remember we had Pure Romance. Is that what the company's called? Oh, yeah. We had the Pure Romance people come in studio once.

01:21:19 - 01:21:21 | Speaker 3:

Nikki. Shout out to Nikki. I still remember

01:21:21 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 1:

her. They brought in a whole bunch of stuff and one of their things was like the edible frosting and i have to be quite honest with you i brought some home with me okay not for me to use in the bedroom i wanted luke's birthday cupcakes

01:21:35 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 5:

oh lord no i wanted that i expect betty crotter to come into the bedroom but once it did i was like okay it's a game changer we got to do this every once in a while well i tasted the stuff

01:21:44 - 01:22:01 | Speaker 1:

that pure romance made and it was actually kind of sweet it was actually kind of bad i'm not gonna lie but you know it's it's interesting that you talk about that i don't like food and sex to mix i love food and i love sex i don't necessarily want my food and my sex to mix i yeah you kind

01:22:01 - 01:22:06 | Speaker 5:

of got to separate the two different you know what i mean i feel fat already when i'm taking

01:22:06 - 01:22:29 | Speaker 1:

off my clothes the last thing in the world i want to do like i'll eat after i have uh sex but i don't know if i necessarily want to do it has um has somebody ever shared a fantasy with you only to have it become a situation where it turned your relationship into something weird um i want to hear what some of the crazier stories what was the text that you guys were saying because i think that

01:22:29 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 3:

she's been trying to get a hold of that texter uh a guy texted us that this is the reason that he divorced his wife because she revealed her sexual fantasies and apparently something about them was really dark or crazy that that was it see hi how you doing uh hi hi you're being

01:22:48 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 2:

voices guys how are you oh i am just fine how are you guys this morning funny subject oh funny

01:22:55 - 01:23:01 | Speaker 1:

subject um your voices guys for a reason obviously you don't want somebody to know who you are

01:23:01 - 01:23:35 | Speaker 2:

or many people yeah i've been with my husband a long time and i had a daughter when i married him and she was very young and now it's been like 26 years but a couple years ago he's like yeah how about that catholic school girl outfit and i just looked at him and he looked at me and went oh oh no she was a school girl oh no that's messed up and we just started laughing i'm like dude you can't you can't do that he's like oh because i won't voice that again because my daughter went

01:23:35 - 01:23:50 | Speaker 1:

to catholic school oh no that's that's that's what i wonder sometimes if somebody gives you their fantasy and if they tell you the fantasy do you wonder if they are like if somebody says i want you to be a catholic school girl do you worry that they're going to be a pedophile or something

01:23:50 - 01:23:58 | Speaker 2:

you know my husband is so in the box straight guy that it was so funny that he shared that anyway That's wild.

01:23:58 - 01:24:02 | Speaker 1:

Would you borrow your daughter's old uniform?

01:24:02 - 01:24:07 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not. Please say no. That's a big fat no. Okay.

01:24:07 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm just wondering. I'm just wondering. Good answer. Jack, what's going on, Jack?

01:24:12 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, either. Yeah.

01:24:14 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Jack, you ended it with your wife because of the fantasy? Unfortunately, yes. Real quick, can I ask you a question? Where are you calling us? It sounds like you're in the middle of the ocean or something.

01:24:27 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 4:

Oh, sorry, I'm late I'm on Bluetooth Maybe I can switch it to handheld

01:24:36 - 01:24:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, switch to handheld Because it's tough to hear you I want to hear this story

01:24:40 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 4:

Alright, is that any better?

01:24:45 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 1:

There you go, that's better So you ended it with your wife Because she shared her fantasy with you Yeah What was her fantasy?

01:24:54 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 4:

um i mean i guess maybe it's not that it's not

01:25:00 - 01:25:39 | Speaker 3:

like anything like super crazy but uh all right i'm gonna just jump right into it because it's still affecting me i just ended it like two months ago oh boy not even two months ago okay but um okay so long story short she wanted another partner like she wanted a more poly relationship whereas i when we got married i that was not what i signed up for we didn't really talk about doing any sort of poly relationship i i had it in my mind that it was gonna be more monogamous okay

01:25:39 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 4:

and with the other partner that she wanted was it another guy that she wanted to bring in or another one or a woman it was another guy she wanted to bring in another dude okay so that

01:25:52 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 3:

I didn't understand this.

01:25:53 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 4:

You, what's that? You can understand why he ended it?

01:25:56 - 01:25:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

01:25:57 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:25:57 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 5:

Was she hard-pressed on this idea, or was it something that she just brought up casually in conversation?

01:26:03 - 01:26:08 | Speaker 3:

Well, it did come up, like, throughout the relationship a little bit. Okay.

01:26:09 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. Now, damn it. His phone got bad. Can we call him back? Is there any way to call him back?

01:26:18 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 5:

You guys, I can't stop thinking about Funfetti Betty Crack Rice.

01:26:22 - 01:26:42 | Speaker 4:

Can I say this? If I was, as a man, if my wife wanted to bring another person in the relationship and wanted another man, I think it would be very difficult. It would be more difficult than if she wanted to bring in another woman because I would feel like I wasn't enough, you know?

01:26:42 - 01:26:43 | Speaker 5:

I agree.

01:26:43 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 4:

But it's interesting because I think another woman is just as equally could make you feel that way too.

01:26:50 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 3:

But you wouldn't feel inferior as a man.

01:26:52 - 01:27:00 | Speaker 4:

No, no. Unless it was the other guy was being brought into the relationship to, like, do things around the house because I'm not very handy.

01:27:02 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 3:

That's acceptable.

01:27:03 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 4:

Then I would be fine with it. Do we have him or no? We lost him?

01:27:08 - 01:27:09 | Speaker 2:

He didn't answer.

01:27:09 - 01:27:14 | Speaker 4:

He got nervous or something. All right, then let's go to some of these fantasies. Stephanie, are you there?

01:27:15 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I am.

01:27:16 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Like, Stephanie's relationship ended after he asked her to do something. What was it that he asked you to do?

01:27:22 - 01:27:25 | Speaker 2:

He wanted me to go to the bathroom in bed.

01:27:25 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy.

01:27:26 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 5:

In bed?

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. No, no, no. Don't know, Avery.

01:27:29 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 5:

I get it.

01:27:30 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 4:

I don't get the people that get into that.

01:27:32 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 5:

I mean, I get what she's saying.

01:27:33 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 4:

I don't get that. Please. It's gross. Did he say why?

01:27:38 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

Yes, because he said it would be like giving a part of me to him.

01:27:42 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

01:27:43 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 5:

So I very casually dated somebody, and that was mentioned, and it was like a big, and that's done.

01:27:51 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:27:52 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 5:

Really? It was nice to meet you. It was nice to go out with you. I want to talk to somebody who likes that, because I want to understand the other side of you. And the crazy part is I worked with this person. I worked with this person. So then I had to see him at work, and it was real weird. And I'm not yucking your yum. It's just, I'm... I'm yucking your yum. No, no. I am yucking that yum. There's nothing yum about it. Why is the person that wants to do it with you?

01:28:14 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 4:

It's just not going to be me. Why can't we talk about that on air? Can I tell you? Because it's too descriptive. Can I tell you something, though, with that? There are couples that won't even, like, fart in front of their other person, let alone they're going to that level. Voices, guys, Elle. Elle?

01:28:33 - 01:28:33 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:28:33 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 4:

Hi. What was their fantasy that they wanted to do?

01:28:37 - 01:28:39 | Speaker 1:

So my wife brought up to me.

01:28:41 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 4:

What's that? Say that again.

01:28:43 - 01:28:46 | Speaker 1:

My wife brought up to me about possibly swinging.

01:28:47 - 01:28:50 | Speaker 4:

Swinging. And you weren't into it, huh?

01:28:52 - 01:28:59 | Speaker 1:

I was apprehensive at first. I gave it a shot, but we tried it out one time.

01:28:59 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 4:

What did you think?

01:29:00 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 1:

I wasn't feeling it. I got performance anxiety.

01:29:05 - 01:29:05 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:29:06 - 01:29:31 | Speaker 4:

When you say swinging, is it that you guys leave each other with the other person or all of you guys are together all you're together your phones are your phone is bad um with that when they bring up swinging and you're not into it you're you have performance anxiety if they're really into it does it make you worry about them uh yeah that was very uh

01:29:31 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 1:

iffy touching point in our relationship for a long time okay uh took marriage therapy and And basically just had to work through those issues and be able to reassure me.

01:29:46 - 01:29:47 | Speaker 3:

So you tried it more than once?

01:29:48 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 1:

We tried it once.

01:29:51 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 4:

But it caused for you guys to have to go to therapy. Initial S wants to also be voice disguised. We're talking about sharing your fantasy and how sometimes it's good. and sometimes is not so good. What was the fantasy?

01:30:03 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 2:

So I always had a fantasy about, like, maybe one or two strippers on my husband and kind of just sitting and watching. And I finally decided to share that with him. And he's, you know, obviously, let's try it. So we go do it, and I literally, after a couple drinks, literally wanted to, like, WWF, like, fight the strippers. I was so mad at my husband He was like, I'm sorry This is what you wanted to do This is your idea I literally wanted to grab her by the back of her head And put her in a chokehold

01:30:44 - 01:31:00 | Speaker 4:

By the way, get that on video That would be a hell of a video I like that we got more food In the relationship And it's also frosting Susan, hi, how are you? Susan? Suzanne?

01:31:00 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 5:

Oh, hi. Hi. Hi, good morning. Hi.

01:31:03 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 4:

What did you guys do for your fantasy?

01:31:05 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 5:

I know you said that you don't like food, but you have to try chocolate cake.

01:31:11 - 01:31:12 | Speaker 4:

What?

01:31:12 - 01:31:13 | Speaker 5:

It was a game changer.

01:31:13 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 4:

Chocolate cake, like a full chocolate cake in the bedroom. Brucie.

01:31:17 - 01:31:23 | Speaker 5:

Well, just, I don't know if I can go through a lot of details, but it was, it was yummy.

01:31:24 - 01:31:24 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:31:24 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 1:

That's, that's, no, that's messy. That's messy. It looks like poop on your sheets afterwards.

01:31:31 - 01:31:37 | Speaker 5:

I don't want to know. There are sheets that you can buy that you can just wash up and it doesn't go through the sheets on the bed.

01:31:37 - 01:31:38 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:31:38 - 01:31:40 | Speaker 5:

Still, that's a lot of work. Interesting.

01:31:40 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. So you're feeding each other the cake while you guys are doing it.

01:31:47 - 01:31:48 | Speaker 5:

Well, yeah.

01:31:49 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 6:

Please don't ask. Can you imagine taking the time to get a cake, then have sexy time, And now, instead of cuddling and talking afterwards, you're like, get up. I've got to take the sheets off. I'm going to take a shower. Yeah, what if you're gluten-free? Not cute. Not cute.

01:32:07 - 01:32:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. All right, it's Mojo on The Morning Show. Let me talk about my Christmas wish that I'm doing for somebody. I'm granting a Christmas wish for Zach. Zach from our show, the expert podcasting guy. What do we call him? The executive audio producer. Well, I just got a new phone. My Apple phone upgrade came. And they give, you know, you do that whole thing. You ever do that at all?

01:32:36 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay, do I need to do this? I'm still up for 2013.

01:32:38 - 01:33:07 | Speaker 4:

I do it. Every two years, they'll give you a thing if you do their little plan thing. And so my new phone came. And I have the choice of trading in my old phone and getting, I think they were offering me like $300 or $350 for the thing. Maybe more. I don't know. I didn't have them go in and take a look at it. And I saw Zach, what are you using right now? What's your Apple? iPhone 10. He's got 10. He's on 10, guys. Let me see it. Let me see. I think it's 11.

01:33:08 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 6:

It's 11. Oh, Megan has a 10, too.

01:33:10 - 01:33:14 | Speaker 4:

Do you still have the little button on it, the little circle button in the bottom? No.

01:33:14 - 01:33:16 | Speaker 6:

Okay, when did they switch that? This is the first one without it, baby. Was it?

01:33:17 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 4:

All right, so I'm giving my old phone to Zach, but I'm giving it to him with a little bit of fear.

01:33:22 - 01:33:23 | Speaker 1:

That's so nice.

01:33:23 - 01:33:50 | Speaker 4:

I am fearful that Zach is going to somehow get my information because I truly believe no matter how much you wipe your information off of this thing, that there is still a chance that whoever gets your phone or your computer, if you give it to him, is somehow looking at your porn or looking at your, or knowing your, you know, credit card numbers or your passwords or any of that stuff. What are you more afraid of, the porn or the credit card?

01:33:50 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Passwords. Not passwords or porn.

01:33:51 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 4:

the passwords because i use virtually similar passwords for almost anything and at that point then he gets into everything else so i was so i wanted to ask this question has anybody ever done this where you gave somebody some kind of a you know a electronic device only to know that years later they were still using your information on the deal am i going to get burned by this sack i mean is your netflix password on well it is i could really use it and youtube tv's on there too And that just went up.

01:34:21 - 01:34:22 | Speaker 3:

You don't have to factory reset that.

01:34:23 - 01:34:26 | Speaker 4:

By the way, YouTube TV is the same price as Xfinity. I just want you to know that now.

01:34:26 - 01:34:27 | Speaker 1:

Like $120?

01:34:27 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 4:

They're seriously up to $100 now. That's a big story today.

01:34:31 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 1:

Okay, can I tell you something? Yeah. So you, this was a couple of years ago, were so kind, and I was going to buy Smith, maybe, one of the kids, an iPad. And you were like, do not do that. I have one that I don't use. You can just have it, whatever. And I know you wiped it, but for whatever reason, whenever we tried to log into anything, it was your email address that would keep coming up oh jesus and not that my kids can text because they can't they don't have you know we don't obviously they don't have phones or phone numbers or anything like that But if they clicked the little messages tab, all of the text messages that were there still when you gave us the thing were.

01:35:08 - 01:35:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Wait. So could you read my text messages?

01:35:11 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 1:

It wouldn't let you. It wouldn't let you scroll. So, like, I could see it was just the ones that were there. It was just the ones that were right there.

01:35:16 - 01:35:22 | Speaker 2:

That's the problem is I don't believe that these these factory resets work. I don't believe it either. Wait, which ones did they read?

01:35:22 - 01:35:26 | Speaker 1:

I want to know if it was obviously nothing incriminating or it would have been made a topic.

01:35:26 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, that scared me.

01:35:28 - 01:35:29 | Speaker 1:

It was all boring stuff.

01:35:29 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 2:

Because that's the biggest worry is you go in there and it's all of a sudden like, what do you see? Bump a chihuahua. Yeah. None of that. Shannon's got a folder on you just in case. Zach, so here's the deal. I'm wiping it this weekend. Okay. So I'm going to wipe it clean this weekend. Then I'm going to hold on to it for like literally maybe 24 hours. Just a check. So I'll do it tonight. I'll hold on to it. And then Monday I'll bring it in to you. Okay. Even in the old box. I'm going to give you the old box with the charger and all that stuff. Oh, why? But if you find anything on there that is written about any member of this radio show, you are to give it back to me, and we're going to do it. And you cannot do it.

01:36:07 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 3:

Send me a screen grab.

01:36:08 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 5:

Exactly.

01:36:10 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 2:

Art, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. What's happening?

01:36:12 - 01:36:25 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's up? Good morning, long-time listener. Hey. Hey, I just wanted to say that for real. Not for a time, but anyways. Oh, baby.

01:36:25 - 01:36:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you can't do that, fraud.

01:36:33 - 01:36:40 | Speaker 5:

Listen, this is so, like, when you said what you said, I'm paranoid, too, because we got...

01:36:40 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 2:

You what? What'd you say, Art? That's what you get for life. That's what happens to you. Art. Jacob. Ah. You call back, Art. What's up, Tiffany? How you doing?

01:36:58 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. What's happening? So, an ex and I, we broke our phones. We got a new phone from his aunt, and she forgot to delete some photos. So, there was some photos on there that were not appropriate for us to see.

01:37:14 - 01:37:16 | Speaker 2:

From Auntie?

01:37:17 - 01:37:18 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

01:37:18 - 01:37:22 | Speaker 2:

What kind of photos? Like, can you describe? Like, what was Auntie doing?

01:37:23 - 01:37:24 | Speaker 3:

She was completely naked.

01:37:24 - 01:37:30 | Speaker 2:

and who is she sending these things to was she sending it to uncle or to somebody else

01:37:30 - 01:37:38 | Speaker 3:

oh to somebody else no way but was she looking good she was she really was

01:37:38 - 01:37:47 | Speaker 2:

oh my god that is awesome I love it hold on Art's back with us Art see you lied to us so it screwed you over what's going on

01:37:47 - 01:38:51 | Speaker 5:

alright so I don't know how far I got but anyways we got the phones from Disney blah blah blah They didn't work as good. We returned them. Two months later, I get a letter or I get a phone call that the detectives want to talk to me. I'm freaking out like I'm in trouble. I did something wrong. I did nothing. I'm at Taco Bell. They come meet me up there. I'm sitting down. I'm talking to them. And they said, you know, did you have a cell phone, whatever? I said, yeah. And then next thing you know, he goes, well, a family's suing the phone company. And I said, for what? And he goes, well, a family bought the phones. and the little girl that got my phone, because I deleted everything, I swear to God, I did. Yeah. And the little girl found a D-pick that I sent to the wife. Shut up. Oh, no. I swear. Hey, tell me why, though. Tell me why. This cop just has the nerve to go, I wasn't impressed. I'm like, what? This is crazy. You have a little penis. I know that's jealousy. This is crazy. That's unbelievable. Why are the cops asking you to meet them at Taco Bell?

01:38:51 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 2:

No, because it was the cop's wife that he gave the phone to, right?

01:38:56 - 01:39:00 | Speaker 5:

No, no, no, no. Oh. A family bought the phone.

01:39:00 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, the family that bought the phone. Okay. Oh, I thought it was cops. No. So the cop was, oh, my God. That's crazy.

01:39:09 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 5:

When they said meet up, I said, can you meet me at work, you know, and I talked to the boss. They're like, cool, whatever. But it was just funny when he said that. And I was thinking, oh, man, you know, like, I get a part of the law.

01:39:19 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

Hey, quick question for you, and this is very important. Is it really small?

01:39:26 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 5:

Nah, no, kickstand.

01:39:30 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Chris? How you doing?

01:39:33 - 01:39:37 | Speaker 4:

Not too bad. First time, long time. Hey, much.

01:39:38 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

Now I'm doubting everybody on those. What's up?

01:39:42 - 01:39:48 | Speaker 4:

So I recently found out that when you delete contacts from your phone, they do not disappear.

01:39:49 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 2:

Really?

01:39:50 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 4:

I, yeah, I rented a Santa Fe from Enterprise the other day, and when I connected my phone and allowed it to see my contacts, it was.

01:40:00 - 01:40:47 | Speaker 2:

pulling up contacts i've deleted out of my phone from like two years ago oh my gosh really so that's that's a scary thought because i got some contacts in there i don't know if i want zach actually seeing you know yeah yeah it's probably more than just contacts although i would tell you this that i would actually be fine if zach would do all my phone call returns to aunt pat maybe yeah yeah maybe zach would you would you do that for me i would do that for you You're such a nice guy. You're going to make him your personal secretary. That's what I'm going to do. Mojo's phone, Zach speaking. I'm going to give Zach this phone next week, and you guys got to judge for me if you think that Zach found something on there by the stories that he starts telling us on the radio. I think something's going to be coming up.

01:40:48 - 01:40:48 | Unknown:

Let's go!

01:40:49 - 01:40:58 | Speaker 4:

Lions coach Dan Campbell. You want to fight? It doesn't matter if you have one ass, cheek, and three toes. I will beat your ass. Yeah, I believe you. Go Lions. This is Mojo in the morning.

01:40:59 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 2:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show, home of the War of the Roses, second date update, and the Dirty on the 30. This is a game of adult whack-a-mole. How do you play that? I want to know.

01:41:13 - 01:41:14 | Speaker 1:

Didn't you ever play whack-a-mole at, like, Techie Tees?

01:41:15 - 01:41:16 | Speaker 2:

I did, but not adult whack-a-mole.

01:41:16 - 01:43:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, well, this is not a game of whack-a-mole that you really want to play. I want to know what killed the mood for you. Call and tell us, please, because I swear I am giving away my three dogs. i love them so much they are so cute but they can be so dang annoying and case in point friday night wes and i had some alone time because my ex-husband took the kids out for they had a family birthday and so there was like a dinner and so we found ourselves with like a couple of hours friday night that was just the two of us and so of course like what are we gonna do we're gonna yeah Yeah. So we went up to our bedroom and we put a gate at the bottom of the stairs so the three dogs couldn't get upstairs. Because even if we shut our door, they will sit outside of the door and cry and whine and scratch the door. And that is really super irritating. And so we were in the middle of doing our thing and they got past the gate and ran up the stairs. and Bo who is our puppy I mean he's one now but he's still a puppy and he's a Cavapoo so he they're like really like high energy dogs and he kept running around the bed and jumping up trying to see what was going on and trying to get on the bed so any way that we kind of changed our position and faced there was just this little fluffy dog head that was jumping up constantly and then if we turned the other way he would run to the other side of the bed and just jump up constantly and west was like i feel like this is whack-a-mole like anywhere you go there's this little head that's popping up and it totally killed the moon totally we were done that was it so it's stop me

01:43:15 - 01:43:21 | Speaker 2:

with it so you had them at the bottom of the stairs you said yes and then i have this like

01:43:21 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 1:

like this i don't even know what it is it's like a clear acrylic gate like a folding yeah well they know how to get around it sometimes so they got so if they work together they can get around the dang thing and then i i had the door cracked open because i didn't need to shut it there were no dogs upstairs well the whole it was we were done is bo the only of the three dogs that's

01:43:44 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 2:

interested in wanting to come up on the bed with you guys uh the friday night yes so charlie and uh what is uh willow willow charlie yeah they all what can they make it up i feel like

01:43:56 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 1:

they don't have the jumping power um charlie for sure cannot willow and beau willow for her can um beau tries but that's why you just see his little head like yeah constantly going up and

01:44:09 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 2:

down um what uh so what killed the mood uh it could be anything it obviously could be another animal story if you got one for us because i think animals in the bedroom are the worst right yeah uh do other pets like do cats get upset i'm sorry i just my brain just thought of like

01:44:28 - 01:44:32 | Speaker 3:

parents who talk like did you imagine having a parent saying something while you're in the room

01:44:32 - 01:44:33 | Speaker 2:

repeating what you said

01:44:33 - 01:44:35 | Speaker 3:

smack it smack it

01:44:35 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 2:

844 Mojo Live 844-665-6548 it seems like dogs are the ones that are the most annoying when you're you're trying to be intimate with your your significant other 844-665-6548 that actually is a funny game though a game of whack-a-mole that is kind of the thing you need one of those mallet things boom yeah

01:44:57 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 1:

I mean like at one point I was like

01:44:59 - 01:45:29 | Unknown:

Thank you.

01:45:00 - 01:45:08 | Speaker 3:

literally face-to-face with the dogs i'm like this is not no i can't we can't the kids are always a

01:45:08 - 01:45:13 | Speaker 2:

big one too and now you guys do have that because you guys have so many kids in that house that it

01:45:13 - 01:45:30 | Speaker 3:

requires you the schedule is always changing and that's why when when i you know found out that i was unexpectedly unexpectedly excuse me gonna have a few hours free on friday night let's go you know know how long is this bird we literally run up the stairs yeah what's up britney how you doing

01:45:30 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 2:

good how are you good britney what was it that ruined the mood well you just said um do cats

01:45:37 - 01:45:52 | Speaker 5:

like get involved and the other day my cat was on our bed while we were getting down to it and i didn't really realize it until i started feeling like my toes he was trying to bite my toes in the middle of it oh my god yeah we just we just took him and we just threw him off at one point

01:45:52 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 2:

when your cat starts like doing something like that your cat's saying i don't like you guys together like i'm trying to keep you guys from being together always tries to get in though

01:46:02 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 5:

like anytime he jumps on the bed we can lock him out of the door and he'll still i don't know how he gets in the room but he does oh my gosh you know what's up hi first time long time

01:46:12 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 6:

what's happening so i have cats i have three cats and they act like dogs so when me and my husband tried to go in the room you know to have our alone time um sometimes like one time we shut the door and all three cats went to the door the black one jumped up on the table and put her paws on the handle while the other one pushed and then it got in the door and then other times um we think that one they're all gone but they'll be under the bed and as soon as we start they jump out from under the bed and they sit on the bed and try to stare at us it's wild that would be creepy i'd be worried

01:46:59 - 01:47:12 | Speaker 2:

to be jumping on my back or something can i tell you that i never thought that cats were this protective like dogs are yeah it's crazy what's what's up how you doing uh ashton what's up how

01:47:12 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 4:

you guys doing so um whenever me and my girlfriend bake cookies like her dog they just like have this look of shame on their face and they're just like, walk away.

01:47:26 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 3:

Ashton, it's so funny because if it's the middle of the night for us and all three dogs sleep in our room for the most part, I always, like, they do afterwards look at both of us like, what did you just do? I always, and Wes makes fun of me, but I'm always like, I'm so sorry, you guys, that you had to see and hear that. They're right there.

01:47:48 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 2:

I remember the one call that we had that one time where the person told us that they were having sex with their spouse and they were like, wow, this is the most unbelievable thing ever. Only to realize it wasn't their spouse that was doing things to them. It was their dog that was doing things. Stop it. Do you remember that call? It was one of the more infamous phone calls we had. It was maybe like 10 years ago or something like that on the show. Yeah. And I will never forget that that was, you know, one of those, like, you're in bed and you're like, this is the greatest thing ever. You're thinking your spouse in the middle of the night is doing something like that. So you're just kind of being quiet going, this is so great. I'm going to pretend like I'm sleeping.

01:48:26 - 01:48:27 | Speaker 3:

And then your spouse walks out of the bathroom.

01:48:31 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Bo.

01:48:35 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 6:

Mojo in the morning. What's that? Sounds stupid. Stupider than hell by now.

01:48:40 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 5:

You are nasty.

01:48:41 - 01:48:50 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, the morning show. How was the wedding? Kev and Lydia and Zach went to, what was the listener's name?

01:48:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 1:

Amanda. Amanda and Andrew. The wedding was spectacular. And even a drive up. So Lydia, Zach, and I, we all met at the station and carpooled up to Ann Arbor, which was incredible. We saw a blimp, which was like the first time in, I think, 30 years we saw a blimp. The wedding was beautiful. the first dance with our father the first dance with his mother the food was fantastic but when we walk in they uh we walked into the reception and they had these cards so you can see where you sit and we're looking at the tables trying to find our names and then again because i didn't rsvp we didn't all sit together but luckily we found a table with three open seats so we sat down it was a beautiful family there we kind of introduced ourselves and you know we got there a little late So we had to sit down and be quiet So once we sit down I'm sitting next to a wonderful woman Who eventually told me her name was Allison But at first She said she didn't speak English And I think that was because The other first thing I said Was like a diddy joke And I think once I said the diddy joke She was like completely turned off Like she didn't find it I wonder why I'm bad tired I know it's like

01:50:00 - 01:50:02 | Speaker 2:

Wait, you think she was faking that she didn't speak English?

01:50:02 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 1:

She was faking, bro. Like, so after I said the Diddy joke, she was looking at me like, I don't know what you're saying. Now, I will say, I believe the groom is from the Philippines. Yeah. And a ton of, man, first off, Filipino women are outstandingly beautiful. Like, top five of all time. Oh, yeah. So she said, so at first, right, she telling me that she can't speak English. As I'm trying to talk, I'm asking her questions. I'm like, what table are we? She just throw up four. then she pointed at her cousin like talk to her and then afterwards was the drink started flowing all of a sudden it's like i'm allison i'm from philippines i lived in las vegas i've been there for four months like all of a sudden she noticed me so she faked you know what this is this is the

01:50:48 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 2:

girl that you meet at a bar or you meet out out and you're trying to be that guy to flirt with them and they don't want to talk to you so they fake that they can't speak or whatever that is

01:50:59 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 1:

exactly what happened because all of a sudden she understood everything lydia said she had all

01:51:04 - 01:51:20 | Speaker 2:

these answers oh my god has anybody ever done that by the way has anybody ever uh fake something so they didn't have to talk to somebody um it wasn't that bad 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh amanda the

01:51:20 - 01:51:25 | Speaker 3:

bride is on the phone with us this morning are you guys hey congratulations you guys feeling good

01:51:25 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 2:

i'm sorry you're feeling good congratulations what's it like to be a married woman we are over the moon so happy it was cool to have these guys you know uh get invited to this that was really

01:51:38 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 3:

nice of you to do that oh i was i was honored to have them you looked incredible your husband

01:51:44 - 01:51:50 | Speaker 1:

looked nice in a suit the bridesmaids looked incredible it was a girl there in a green dress She looked incredible.

01:51:51 - 01:51:55 | Speaker 3:

She was on my list for Zach. Oh!

01:51:56 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 4:

Didn't get a chance to talk to her.

01:51:57 - 01:52:05 | Speaker 3:

Do you go through your wedding cards and count how much money you made? Actually, Zach's card was so funny. He wrote it in a crayon.

01:52:05 - 01:52:11 | Speaker 2:

I didn't find a pen. You found a crayon? Yeah, I found a blue crayon.

01:52:11 - 01:52:14 | Speaker 3:

Wait, this could not be more than that.

01:52:14 - 01:52:18 | Speaker 2:

I was like, pens are overrated. That's great.

01:52:18 - 01:52:20 | Speaker 3:

I loved it. It was so funny.

01:52:20 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 2:

Yo, tell them about the card that your father gave to you.

01:52:24 - 01:52:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I was telling Zach this. My father tried to glitter bomb me. So he had a card, and when we opened it, it, like, triggered something, and it was playing music, but it never stopped. So we put it back in the envelope, and we were, like, after, like, a couple minutes, like, Andrew's losing his mind. Like, I cannot deal with this card. I was trying to ignore it. I was, like, he's not going to win. But then we decided to slowly rip it open And then I guess they were planning on us Opening it aggressively Because when you rip it open There's glitter on the inside in this pocket

01:52:58 - 01:53:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh I would have been so mad I think that's the best part

01:53:01 - 01:53:03 | Speaker 1:

All over the dress

01:53:03 - 01:53:15 | Speaker 2:

But it's dad though Dad can get away with it What about this person that was faking That she couldn't speak English Because she was annoyed that she had to sit next to Kevin Did you hear back from her at all?

01:53:16 - 01:53:21 | Speaker 3:

I didn't even know about this until just now. It was so funny. Oh, my gosh.

01:53:21 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 1:

We were sitting there, and she would not reply to anything I said. And then all of a sudden, Lydia leaned over, and she had all the things to say. Everything she knew, she understood and communicated everything.

01:53:35 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 2:

She was forewarned that you didn't RSVP, and it wasn't until Friday's show that Amanda even realized that you were showing up, Kevin.

01:53:43 - 01:53:47 | Speaker 1:

It was beautiful, though. And thank you again. The salmon was outstanding.

01:53:47 - 01:53:51 | Speaker 4:

there. Appreciate that. You did not eat and you did an RSVP. And she said

01:53:51 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 1:

I could take some off. No. Wait, do you want to wait? You asked to take some off? No, no, no. She asked me if I had the vegetarian lasagna and I was like, no, I didn't. But I did grab a couple pieces of salmon. She's like, take some off. And did you? No, no,

01:54:03 - 01:54:12 | Speaker 2:

no. I left it for the family. Okay. You're the guy that brings Tupperware to a wedding and hopes that people don't show up for the thing. Well, are you going on a honeymoon, Amanda?

01:54:13 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 3:

We are going to the Philippines in April.

01:54:16 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Well, talk to you before then, I'm sure. So we love you, and thank you so much for listening to the show and being part of our Mojo

01:54:23 - 01:54:29 | Speaker 1:

family. Oh, thank you, guys. Until Green Dress, Zach say, ha. Well,

01:54:29 - 01:54:30 | Speaker 2:

Zach and Covins.

01:54:30 - 01:54:32 | Speaker 1:

I'm not as long as that.

01:54:47 - 01:55:21 | Speaker 2:

all right it's mojo in the morning yesterday we did a more mojo podcast which was hosted by producer lydia where she was talking about how she picks topics and we were kind of going back and forth but one thing that was brought up And by the way, go listen to that, More Mojo Podcast. It's our after show podcast on the iHeartRadio app or wherever you get podcasts. Just search More Mojo. Well, we talked about something with our topics that weren't chosen about one of Megan's topics that wasn't chosen. And it was a very compelling topic. So we want to do it right now.

01:55:21 - 01:55:22 | Speaker 4:

Can you say that one more time?

01:55:22 - 01:55:24 | Speaker 2:

It was a Megan topic and it was very compelling.

01:55:24 - 01:55:33 | Speaker 4:

So you think my topics are good. It was good. You think my topics are good. we were all like why wasn't that chosen and we want to know more me too lydia had a good point

01:55:33 - 01:55:45 | Speaker 2:

of why she didn't choose it so you can listen to it on the more mojo podcast platform but it deals with um a friend of yours that had a little uh issue in their relationship correct so a friend

01:55:45 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 4:

of mine had her first child with her husband within i mean the baby's close to like a year right maybe a little bit over i feel like we've already had the first birth whatever that doesn't matter young baby let's just know that there's a young baby in the household and she's pretty newly married well she just found out that her husband was cheating on her and probably what i would imagine is one of the worst way possible because she's a stay-at-home mom she's not currently employed and she found out her husband was cheating when he was fired for his job for breaking his morality clause by cheating with a co-worker oh wow so both people both people in that job situation got let go and that's how their spouses found out that they were cheating so now she found out her husband is cheating on her she has no income he has no income and she has no means to leave her marriage and she's now stuck trying to figure out how they're going to pay the bills together and cannot file for divorce wow it's it's unbelievable this is one of those

01:56:52 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 2:

situations where and we've said this before with war of the roses if you cheat with a co-worker or if you end up getting a relationship with like your boss or something like that and somebody's going to lose their job you're not only going to lose your job but you're potentially you're going to or i'm sorry you're not only going to lose your relationship you're not which is probably more important than your job but you could lose a double whammy in this

01:57:11 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 3:

situation you lose your uh your income i'm related but related this is why i will forever tell my daughter you gotta have your own you don't be relying on no man to take care of you because anything could pop up and you don't want to be sitting there assed out yeah i think it's tough

01:57:29 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 4:

when you have the kid though like the it's a baby you know i think a lot of women leave their jobs for even if it's like the first year to kind of take care of the baby yeah that's uh that's crazy

01:57:41 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 2:

has anybody any 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 has anybody ever been part of something like this where they found out that their spouse was cheating but then also found out that the cheating came out at work and the person ended up getting fired bro that's heavy yeah now what

01:58:00 - 01:58:28 | Speaker 4:

if they lose the cars the house you could financially drain yourself before you get divorce is she gonna stay with his ass she has no options right now i feel really terrible for her they're more worried about selling the house and not going through a foreclosure which will then affect both of them moving forward trying to find living situations once they do inevitably split up but things are not good because they are stuck together right and he's home all the time because

01:58:28 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 2:

he doesn't have a job yeah uh don't you almost feel and i hate to say this because she didn't deserve this but don't you think it's karma for what it's karma for him no karma for him like him him and her and the boss you know it's it's it's kind of i i think that the the karma goes full circle if she just says you know what enough i'll find a family member that will help

01:58:52 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 4:

me out or something like that yeah but that's relying on financial resources of your loved ones and she doesn't have a well-off family why wasn't this guy saving any money at all

01:59:01 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 2:

Why weren't they saving any money?

01:59:02 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 4:

They're a young couple. It's really hard to save right now.

01:59:05 - 01:59:10 | Speaker 2:

You know what? She's young enough, though. I tell her, this is the time. Just make the move. Cut the umbilical cord.

01:59:11 - 01:59:13 | Speaker 4:

What is she going to do? Her name is on the house.

01:59:13 - 01:59:22 | Speaker 2:

Well, kick his ass out and then figure it out. And you know what? Do you want to stay in a relationship with this guy if he's doing this?

01:59:22 - 01:59:24 | Speaker 4:

I think she's financially stuck.

01:59:24 - 01:59:25 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Susan?

01:59:26 - 01:59:50 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I was in a marriage for 20 years. had three little daughters two twins that were in kindergarten my husband cheated on me and when we went to mediation they set up the child support and alimony and everything and it wasn't enough for me to pay my bills and the mediator said well you need to get yourself a job

01:59:50 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 2:

and i had little kids question did he lose his job was it with a co-worker

01:59:56 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

No, he didn't lose his job. It was with a co-worker.

02:00:00 - 02:00:06 | Speaker 6:

It was, but she got transferred, and I had a PPO. I couldn't even go to the post office.

02:00:06 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 4:

Wait, why? Because it was a postal worker?

02:00:09 - 02:00:10 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:00:10 - 02:00:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, geez. Wait, postal people are cheating with each other, huh? Oh, yeah. Are they male drivers, like, you know, delivery people, or are they sorting mail?

02:00:26 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 6:

Male and a female sub.

02:00:29 - 02:00:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Can you still not go to a post office? Because that would suck for your bill.

02:00:36 - 02:00:52 | Speaker 6:

No, my kids are grown now. That's been 15 years ago. But it was pretty rough in the beginning. But I had to get a job just to support my children because the way I was living, my house payment was less or more than child support.

02:00:52 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 4:

So for Megan's friend, what do you suggest? That she gets out into the workforce?

02:01:00 - 02:01:05 | Speaker 6:

Uh, see, that's hard because you want to raise your children, you know?

02:01:05 - 02:01:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and the price of child care right now, especially for a baby, is like, can you bring in more income than you're going to pay in child care?

02:01:12 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 4:

Should she stay with this guy, you think?

02:01:16 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 6:

Well, she should maybe stay for a little while, figure it out, and then get out.

02:01:21 - 02:01:21 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:01:22 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 6:

Because he's not going to change.

02:01:23 - 02:02:04 | Speaker 1:

And I know when it comes to a lot of young couples, which I don't know if this is their situation, but this has happened to one or two actually I think friends of mine where they got married like right out of college and so she never ended up getting a job or entering the workforce because they had kids right away so she had a resume of nothing yep it was like the job she held in high school and like a waitressing job in college where like she needed to go out and get a career in order to support you know her now two kids well three kids and pay the bills and stuff and it was so tough for her what's up nick hey how's it going good what's going on so my stepdad actually

02:02:04 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 3:

cheated on my mom or he's the next stepdad but my ex-stepdad cheated on my mom multiple times like women he was a factory worker so he uh i feel like that's kind of a stereotype he hits that so my look he's my mom found out because my little brother was sitting at the table with us uh eating dinner and then he was like my mom my dad took us to go see her friend or his friend at work so yeah it was kind of fun to uh to kind of sit through that my mom went through his phone kind of seen things through and then like throughout the years she kind of seen more and more and then finally that kind of led to the divorce that's wild so your little brother

02:02:37 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 4:

actually went to see this woman that your dad was cheating with uh he actually seen a couple he

02:02:44 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 3:

he's funny enough my stepdad took him to see two different women he kind of snitched on her twice

02:02:49 - 02:02:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. That's bold. He's bringing his kids around the whole situation.

02:02:53 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, definitely bold.

02:02:55 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 4:

Ann, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi, Ann.

02:02:59 - 02:03:08 | Speaker 5:

Hey. Hi. So my dad actually had an affair on my mom. They were both COs at a prison. What's that?

02:03:08 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 4:

What is that? Correctional officer. Correctional officer? Okay.

02:03:11 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 5:

Correctional officer, yeah. So he had convinced her to quit her. Mom would take care of me. So, like, two weeks into it, she found out he was having an affair with an inmate of the prison, and he ended up losing his job. He lost everything, and she lost everything.

02:03:29 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Wait, your dad was having an affair with the inmate? That had to be, like, a big issue, huh?

02:03:35 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 5:

Can't he go to jail for that? So, nowadays, you can go to jail for it, but this was, like, back in, like, the early 90s. Wow. So, it really wasn't much of a thing yet. But, yeah, he lost everything. Back then it was fine.

02:03:49 - 02:03:53 | Speaker 4:

He could do whatever he wanted. That's crazy. He lost his job and everything.

02:03:53 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 5:

And when they went to court, the judge had asked, you know, what did you do? Meaning, like, what was his job? And he thought that they meant, like, what did you get fired for? And he just busted it all out on the table in front of the judge. And instantly she was like, the mother gets full custody and child support.

02:04:10 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 4:

Wow. That's amazing, though, that both are, you know, correctional officers. and she had no idea that that was going on. I wonder if there was any sense of that. I wonder if they was at the same prison. Initial P is on with us right now. It wants to be Voices Guys because, P, what happened?

02:04:27 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. So I was working at this well-known cell phone company and started having an affair with this married woman. Her husband found out and bought money from his sister to download an app and put my number in there and found out my address. They got to call at work, and work was monitoring the cause, and sometimes the cause used to have to escalate the cause to her department, and she would answer the phone, and we would be saying different stuff on the phone, and they heard us.

02:05:00 - 02:05:02 | Speaker 1:

And, yeah, a lot of stuff.

02:05:02 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 3:

So what happened? Get right to the point of your story. So did you lose your job? Yeah. So you lost your job having an affair with a coworker at a cell phone company. Wow.

02:05:13 - 02:05:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:05:14 - 02:05:18 | Speaker 3:

And did you guys have families?

02:05:19 - 02:05:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:05:20 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man.

02:05:21 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 1:

What did you tell your significant other? They came over to my house.

02:05:26 - 02:05:27 | Speaker 3:

What happened when they came to the house?

02:05:28 - 02:05:36 | Speaker 1:

I didn't open the door. I actually called the police to ask them what I could do because this girl, her girl, was at my door. They just told me not to open the door.

02:05:36 - 02:05:38 | Speaker 3:

But your family was inside with you, right?

02:05:39 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 1:

No, my girl was at work at the time.

02:05:43 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 3:

Megan brought up a quick question. Say that again, Megan.

02:05:45 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 2:

What did you tell your significant other when you got fired?

02:05:50 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 1:

I just lost my job.

02:05:51 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 3:

And you told her that you cheated?

02:05:54 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 1:

No. He ain't saying that. You guys are now for this day.

02:05:58 - 02:06:34 | Speaker 3:

Wow. It's a recession. Cell phone cells are down, baby. It's the market. It ain't me. But what about those people pounding on the door? Those bill collectors? I don't know who they are. Those are booty collectors. Those are Joe Witnesses. They getting aggressive. Well, I guess if you're going to lie about the cheating, you might as well lie about why you got fired. That would probably be okay. Michelle wants to make a comment about your friend. Last comment on this one. Megan's friend whose husband cheated with a coworker only to lose his job, and now her friend is sitting there with a guy that cheated on her that has no gig. What's going on, Michelle?

02:06:35 - 02:06:49 | Speaker 1:

Hi, I just want to make a quick comment. I know I am a little older, but this girl needs to get out of this marriage. It might be inconvenient. It might be financially hard, but get a divorce. She can get help.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 3:

All right, thank you for the call.

02:06:51 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 1:

With what money?

02:06:52 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 3:

With what money?

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

That's the problem.

02:06:55 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 3:

Maybe that's what we're saying. maybe a family member or somebody here's the deal let's hope they go to counseling first before they do anything because maybe the counseling can help them in the situation you see people that cheat that actually get through it but i uh i think that she shouldn't just allow for him to just continue to just can you know get away with the fact that he cheated but thank you absolutely thank you for the call appreciate it all right that was the topic that we didn't do that we just did and you can hear more about what how we pick topics on the show by going to listen to yesterday's more mojo podcast all right mojo in the morning show shannon you mentioned something this morning and i think you should if you can if you feel comfortable bring it up on the air but out of the blue you just kind of get let a sigh out and said something that you remember what i'm talking

02:07:43 - 02:10:13 | Speaker 2:

about i equate this to um and maybe you have felt this way at some point in your life but this is this is the only way that I can describe how I'm feeling right now. It feels like I am on a really fast moving train and I just need it to stop so I can take a deep breath and catch up on my life. Like I am so overwhelmed right now and it feels like I am doing 20 things at one time. Like I've got so many different things going on and going through my brain and you know um it's like i if i'm not doing these 20 things i'm thinking about them and it's like work and lucy and smith and then the older kids and the three dogs and stuff at home that needs to get done in boxes that still haven't been unpacked from west moving in after we got married and trying to get in some friend time which I feel like I'm failing at miserably and then just like checking stuff off my to-do list it doesn't stop and I feel like I just like needed to stop for a second I I said to Wes yesterday I'm like I feel like I need to take two days off of work so that I can just like finish all of this junk so that I feel like I can at least keep going yeah you know what I mean and I I'm like watching my friends do stuff on social media and I'm like oh I'm missing that because I'm so busy with this over here and I feel like I'm not giving it 100 over here and then you know what really made me very aware that I need to slow down is I was in the car this was the day before yesterday and I had my phone which I effing hate my phone sometimes I just want to throw it out my window but I was trying to respond to an email and um Smith was in the back seat and he was talking to me and honestly i wasn't even paying attention because i was just trying to finish responding to like whatever this email was to somebody and west was in the driver's seat and he said san smith is trying to tell you something really important that's a core memory for him you might want to put your phone down and smith starts talking about this moment on our trip to colorado that we went on back in July and how it was like. his favorite vacation of all time because of something that had happened and it i just like literally sat in my seat and started to cry i'm like i need to pause and slow down i think that

02:10:13 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 1:

this so first off thank you for sharing because i think that a lot of times we feel um embarrassed too because we feel like we want to sound like we're together right like we got everything together but so many people are relating to this because you should see what the text messages are looking like right now of people commenting going I'm right there with you you've had a lot of stuff going on recently right you've just recently uh gotten married you've added to your family you guys have moved people in you got people coming on some some weeks some weeks they're you know your kids are going you know it's like you got a lot of stuff going on work's been really busy this is one of our busiest times that we have work-wise my mom is in the process of moving oh geez add that on top of everything yeah it's like you just want all you want is you want to have like a moment and it's funny because i don't even think i don't even think a moment or a weekend or a week can help slow it down it just happens and just looking at your calendar stresses me out

02:11:10 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 3:

and sometimes i feel really guilty when i feel exactly the same way and i go well i don't have kids on my plate and i'm not in a relation like i have it a lot easier than a lot of people who are going through juggling more items than i am which makes me feel guilty but um it's really really interesting that you brought the friend thing up specifically because last night my girlfriend facetimed me while i was running errands and doing chores just because i haven't seen them in so long and it's like this this isn't what friends are supposed to do you're not supposed to like facetime each other you're supposed to spend time with each other and it made me feel

02:11:44 - 02:12:13 | Speaker 1:

super guilty yeah shannon or megan i will say this to you i think that don't discount that you have a lot to do because i look at your schedule of what you do i don't know how you on a daily basis do what you're doing so uh lisa what's up how are you it's mojo in the morning i'm good how are you guys welcome to the good we're welcome to the overwhelmed club how are you i'm i'm in it too i'm a member yes well you're a card carrying member yes i am um i was gonna

02:12:13 - 02:12:30 | Speaker 5:

tell shannon that i think start with time with friends and that will recharge your battery because it's good for the soul and then you can tackle everything else from there um it just kind of fills all those buckets that you need those little holes you know

02:12:30 - 02:13:25 | Speaker 2:

yeah i um i this i think it was sunday i had to drop something off to my friend lindsey's house and when i was dropping this thing off it was for the kids school um she was hanging out with one of my other girlfriends and it like i i i felt like an outsider interrupting their like hangout session and i was like i i looked at both of them and i feel like they've been hanging out a ton too and i'm like i haven't even like i feel so out of the loop weird my friends it was like i just yeah i feel like very west keeps using the word scattered like i get into bed at night and i'm like okay i have to do this this this this i feel like i failed smith you know because i wasn't able to finish this today and then like it's like oh my god and and I feel like I'm getting like five hours of sleep which is not helping I just feel like I'm like unraveled honestly I think

02:13:25 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 1:

the sleep probably is a big thing if you get that sleep it makes you feel like you're accomplished

02:13:29 - 02:14:06 | Speaker 6:

a lot because you're just rested right yeah what's up Alexia yeah hi hi um my daughter actually my My middle daughter was just recently diagnosed with developmental autism, so I know all about, like, being overwhelmed and everything because my husband also has seizures. So I have to drive him to work, and then I have to take the kids to school, and then I work on top of doctor's appointments and therapy and everything else all week long. So I feel like myself, like, I don't get enough sleep, or I don't feel like I'm there for the special moments either. Yeah.

02:14:06 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 1:

Man, you got a lot on your plate. I mean, that's a lot. But you know what? We appreciate you call up. I hope that listening to this show sometimes gives you a little bit of rest.

02:14:16 - 02:14:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, absolutely. I listen to you guys every morning driving my husband to work. I mean, this show has been like my life the last year.

02:14:24 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 1:

Oh, man, we appreciate you so much. We're doing a radio hug right now for you. 313 says, I'm crying right now because I'm in the same boat as you, Shannon. That is 313 that just sent that. Samantha, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:14:39 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Hi. Good morning. Sorry, this is probably the most real and open and honest topic. I live in a different state from all my friends and family, and this year has been chaotic. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, trying to keep her and everybody together.

02:15:00 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 2:

super short staffed at work and i honestly felt like shannon i messaged my friends like oh i am so sorry for being a crappy friend this year because i just don't have the energy trying to move to be closer to family and trying to find a new job it's just been chaotic

02:15:17 - 02:15:21 | Speaker 1:

well know this we're going to pray for your mom first know that you're doing what you're

02:15:21 - 02:15:41 | Speaker 3:

supposed to be doing right now exactly you're supposed to be focusing your attention on your mom You know, I think that your friends, like true friends, understand that. And true friends understand when a friendship has to be paused because there is something monumental happening in your life, and that's taking care of your mom.

02:15:42 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 2:

I've been very thankful. She just rang the bell about she went to go but was in the hospital after that for complications. So we're just hoping for some rest so that she can have her surgery here in the next couple weeks.

02:15:57 - 02:15:58 | Speaker 1:

And you said you're looking for a new job?

02:15:59 - 02:16:02 | Speaker 2:

I am. I'm looking for a new job to be closer to them.

02:16:02 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 1:

Where are they?

02:16:04 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 2:

Huntsville, Alabama now. We're originally from Michigan. Okay.

02:16:08 - 02:16:21 | Speaker 1:

Well, we got to pray that something comes your way in Huntsville, Alabama, or if anybody's listening in there, send good vibes towards Samantha here. Samantha, we appreciate you calling. I really appreciate that. Man, we love you. Thank you.

02:16:22 - 02:16:22 | Speaker 2:

Thank you.

02:16:23 - 02:18:48 | Speaker 1:

Shannon, thanks for sharing. Appreciate that. Mojo in the morning. Good to have you guys here with us. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Texts are up and running, so if you want to text us, text is 95500. And if you do text us, know that if your text is really good, we may call you. And Lydia will try to get you on the air with us. All right, where's the worst place to get into a fight with your significant other? We, over the weekend, went away, and I didn't get a chance to talk about this, but when we were flying back, and we were flying on a long flight, and the couple that was sitting across the aisle from us were fighting, and I thought to myself, I'm like, could you pick a worse place ever to get into a fight with your spouse or boyfriend or girlfriend, whatever, an airline flight where you got to sit next to them and they tell you that you have to have buckled seats the entire time and you can't move. I'm looking at these people. First of all, they got on the plane and they were fighting. I mean, she was so not happy with him. And honestly, he could care less. And then when they were sitting down, have you ever done this where you go on a flight with like friends or family and you fight over the seat? Or do you go, no, I'll take the middle or whatever. She was specifically showing him that she did not have the middle seat, that when they booked the flight, I don't know if he or she booked it. They booked, you know, her in the aisle seat, him in the middle seat. and she was refusing to sit in the middle seat and she was fighting with this guy who they were married because I saw their ring. Although by halfway through the flight, I'm thinking I'm going to look at these guys and see if they take the ring off. But it got me thinking the worst place to ever get into a fight with your spouse happened to Chelsea and I, and it was going to a wedding. We got into a fight just before the wedding. So the entire wedding we were there and you know how you always, you know, are walking around together and stuff as a couple and they do couples dances and stuff we spent zero time together talking to each other yeah that's a bad one oh it's a horrible one although you do have a little bit more freedom than an airline

02:18:48 - 02:19:16 | Speaker 3:

flight yeah Wes and I and I've talked about this on the air Wes and I got into a flight on a weekend vacation that we took and the fight was so bad that we didn't even want to stay in the same hotel room so he got the breakup rate I forgot about that and stayed in another hotel room um and so i feel like that was really bad too because we had looked forward to that weekend for so long and then the first night we're there we get into this huge fight we don't even sleep

02:19:16 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 1:

in the same room what was flying back in the plane like did you guys finally make up at that

02:19:20 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 3:

point we made up and we ended up staying it was i think it was memorial weekend so we ended up staying an extra day to make up for the day that we lost because we didn't speak to each other the

02:19:29 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 1:

whole day did you make up on the makeup day what did you were fighting did you guys make up no

02:19:36 - 02:19:56 | Speaker 3:

no it was the day we fought we fought on friday we stayed in separate hotel rooms on friday night he literally the hotel had something called the breakup rate so he got a better room for half the price that we originally paid then the whole next day we didn't speak to each other until dinner oh my god so it was 24 good hours of being in new york city and doing our own thing

02:19:56 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 1:

this couple that was fighting with each other the entire your time, all I wanted to do was buy them drinks. I just wanted to send them, but then I thought it could make it worse. Stephanie, where's the worst place to get into a fight with your significant other?

02:20:10 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 7:

Walt Disney World. With your in-laws. Oh, no! Okay, that's a double whammy. The happiest place...

02:20:15 - 02:20:17 | Speaker 1:

Wait, was the fight over your in-laws?

02:20:19 - 02:20:21 | Speaker 7:

I mean, some of it was.

02:20:21 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 1:

Of course. The happiest place on Earth is not a happy place when you have to go with your in-laws and you guys get into a fight. Do you remember what the fight was over? Like, like, exactly.

02:20:32 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 7:

I don't know. I'm sure it was probably partly due to exhaustion, partly due to constant compromises, partly due to the hot weather. There was just so many things that you encounter in Disney that are challenges.

02:20:45 - 02:20:45 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:20:45 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 7:

And when I came home, I told my sister, there's nothing like a family trip, especially with in-laws, to expose all the flaws in your marriage.

02:20:54 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, boy, that is saying something. Are you guys still together?

02:20:58 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 7:

We are.

02:20:59 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 1:

Thank God.

02:20:59 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 7:

It was a great learning experience.

02:21:02 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. Where was your fight at, Hannah? How you doing?

02:21:07 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 6:

Hi. Yeah, I went on a cruise this summer with my in-laws, and we just fought the whole time. And their room was right next to us. So it was not good.

02:21:19 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 1:

A cruise, to me, would be worse than Disney.

02:21:21 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 6:

Yes. Yes, because you're stuck on the boat. You have no escape route. So there was no way to avoid him, no way to, you know, get out of it.

02:21:32 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 1:

And the in-laws are on the other side of that small room, you know?

02:21:36 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 2:

But it's really easy to get away with murder on a cruise ship, and I seriously considered that with my brother the last time we cruised together. Can I tell you something, Megan?

02:21:45 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I absolutely considered it. If I were, like, in a case where I was fighting, I would not want my significant other, or in your case, your brother, to leave and go walking off? Because if they die, you're the one that's blamed.

02:22:00 - 02:22:07 | Speaker 2:

No, you'd be surprised at how many deaths occur. No. How many deaths occur on cruise ships and how many people get arrested.

02:22:07 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 1:

But Megan, when they say to you, so tell us a little bit about what happened beforehand. Well, we were fighting. Oh, crap.

02:22:12 - 02:22:22 | Speaker 2:

No, that's not you. That's bad. That's bad victimhood. You got to cry. I don't know what happened. These kids are missing. They didn't say anything.

02:22:23 - 02:22:27 | Speaker 1:

This is one for any parent out there listening. We're talking about the worst place to get into a fight, Rebecca.

02:22:28 - 02:22:29 | Speaker 5:

Yes.

02:22:29 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 1:

Hi, where was it?

02:22:31 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 5:

So we had our son's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese this weekend. God bless you. We literally fought about everything. Like, this was our first time doing a birthday party at, like, any place. So it was, like, really overwhelming for us. I wish we could say that it doesn't happen, But I feel like any time we go do anything, we always end up fighting, whether it be at birthday parties, weddings, anything. It was just a disaster. And we had to sit there and smile the whole time like we didn't want to kill each other.

02:23:05 - 02:23:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God. And you know what? That's the most annoying place anyway because of how loud it is and annoying it is.

02:23:10 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. And they do, like, all the birthdays at once. So, like, it wasn't just us. It was, like, other people and, like, just a million kids everywhere, and it was just really annoying.

02:23:23 - 02:23:26 | Speaker 1:

It's horrible. Ben, worst place to get into a fight?

02:23:28 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so probably about a week or so ago, me and my girlfriend went out to get some breakfast and just sitting there having some conversation, and I ended up taking her off. And my girlfriend's the type to where she gets upset she's not able to eat. So we're getting into it a little bit. not really anything too heavy and you know the waitress brings out the food and we're both just sitting there and we got our food in front of us you know i'm paying for this meal so i'm eating my food but she's just sitting there and you know i'm kind of trying to patch things up get her to eat you know waitress just keeps coming back checking on us how's everything you know making sure everything's good we have everything we need and yeah just a very uh very awkward situation

02:24:13 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 1:

They know you did something wrong when she's not eating. They're like, this guy did something wrong. I ain't never gotten into an argument with a girl who didn't want to eat.

02:24:21 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 4:

I wish that happened. I know, right? They definitely ate. And they ordered extras.

02:24:25 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 1:

This one might be worse than the cruise. Jason, where did you get into a fight with your significant other?

02:24:32 - 02:24:33 | Speaker 4:

On a canoe trip.

02:24:34 - 02:24:38 | Speaker 2:

Not the canoe. On the canoe. Oh, that's bad. Were you cabruing?

02:24:39 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 4:

Cabruing. Yeah, it was supposed to be a four-hour canoe trip. That turned into a seven-hour canoe trip. Because you're the only one canoeing. You're the only one paddling. Yeah, as you're getting in the canoe, the canoe tips, and it's a little cooler, so you're soaking wet. Beer's floating down the river, and you have to sit there.

02:25:00 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 3:

and listen to what, you know, every name they want to call you for about six hours.

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 5:

You poor bastard.

02:25:09 - 02:25:21 | Speaker 1:

No, it's the way that these guys don't pay attention and the water is six degrees. And when you hit that water at the beginning of a four-hour trip, you think, I don't know what you're wrong. And you're like, you didn't listen to the instructor. It'll set me on. I'm with her. She's right. You're wrong.

02:25:22 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 5:

Oh, some of these are so good. Hold on. I'm looking at some of these ones here. At a church event. Okay, so that's one. Rose, that was yours. out of those ones a church event what was it like something nice that you guys were supposed to be

02:25:34 - 02:25:58 | Speaker 3:

doing together yeah so it was um it was an event that we all went out and just like a putt putt golf cart kind of thing yeah and um we were fighting there was like probably 50 plus people and he decided that he wanted to fight with me so we were arguing in front of all these people and he tried to make it okay by like being nice to me after like on the way home with our pastor

02:25:58 - 02:26:06 | Speaker 5:

in the car it was so awkward oh my god how about this one at a concert that would suck what concert

02:26:06 - 02:26:36 | Speaker 3:

was it uh hayley uh we were at ed sheeran and we had floor passes all the love songs he puts on well we ended up making up halfway through the concert so we missed half of it and then he proposed the next day so awkward thinking out loud by the way was probably the song that brought you guys together yeah maybe i was also pregnant so it was not good brianna this is a good

02:26:36 - 02:26:41 | Speaker 5:

one we'll end on this one where did you get into a fight with your significant other at mojo in the

02:26:41 - 02:26:59 | Speaker 4:

morning pajama party what was the fight over well to be fair it was my birthday and i kind of had you know too much to drink so i was completely being dramatic but his ex was there and in my ahead. She came to ruin my birthday party even though she didn't say anything to me.

02:27:00 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 5:

And his ex was wearing pajamas too, right? Yeah.

02:27:04 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 4:

Did you know that she was going to be there before you showed up? No, no, so he didn't either. They didn't even talk. They hadn't talked in years, so it was just me. Oh, that's so weird, though.

02:27:15 - 02:27:30 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the morning show. Kev, for those who don't know, Kev works with the Pistons and Michigan State uh doing uh their games and uh you had a guy come up to you and had an interesting story to tell you

02:27:30 - 02:28:50 | Speaker 2:

what was that man so one of my friends uh who i went to high school with at the detroit high school for the final performing arts big shout out to us uh so he was in a grade younger uh than i was and we were familiar i would say we were cool uh but we haven't talked that much post high school obviously but it's not totally out the blue that he would hit me up and i just would ignore so he hit me up he's like hey can i get your number i need to call you and i see the dm and i'm like all right you know this is weird but i'm intrigued what does he want send him my number he calls me immediately he sounds frantic he's like kind of breathing heavy hey kid what's going on i'm like hey what's up man what's going on he's like man and then he just unloaded this story on me that I was not prepared for. And his story was that he didn't grow up with his father. And for his entire life, he's wanted to know who his father was. And he's never been able to identify who his father is. So he does 23andMe. He tells me that he does 23andMe. He finds out who his father is. Unfortunately, his father has passed away. But he realizes that he has like four or five brothers and sisters. He contacts one of them. This is what he's telling me, this whole thing. And his point is that his brother is interested in entering the sports world, and he wants to know if the Pistons are hiring.

02:28:51 - 02:28:54 | Speaker 5:

So wait, oh, so he was trying to help out his now new brother that he found?

02:28:54 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 2:

Yes, like the first day he met this guy. He's already trying to help him out. And my mind is blown because I'm like, you think you're going to try to meet your father, and then you find out that you got like four or five brothers and sisters in this whole other family that you had no idea about.

02:29:07 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

I hear a lot when people do those, you know, and back in the day when, when was it? that it was like 10 years ago those things kind of came out or do you remember uh john ivy who who worked for us john ivy found out out of the blue that he had sisters that lived ready for this like miles away from him and he had he is a radio guy that moved across the country like did radio you know all over the place and had settled back in nashville which he thought oh this would be a cool place to live did a 23 and me only to find out that he had a sister that lived just a mile or two miles down the road he could have been going to a kroger and walking in and being there in the back of her you know complaining about her taking slow time checking out or something you know yeah isn't that crazy so this guy

02:30:00 - 02:30:05 | Speaker 3:

What did he think about the fact that he got a chance to, that's sad to know that his dad wasn't alive.

02:30:05 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 2:

I was blown away, to be honest with you. I was completely shocked. So I didn't ask too many questions. But I was kind of like, are you okay? Like that kind of thing. He was just kind of blown away. He was like, now I got to try to figure out how to develop a relationship because they live all over. Some live in California, some live in Arizona. He's here in Detroit.

02:30:24 - 02:30:39 | Speaker 3:

I wonder, I've always wondered this. Has anybody ever had this happen to them? and then they called their family member to say hey i'm your family member and they hung up the phone has anybody ever like had like gotten the donut don't even reach out to me type of uh

02:30:39 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 1:

uh response off of that i am just fascinated by people who have done 23andme and and like your friend found out about like family members they didn't know about like they were doing it just to like fill out their family tree you know with great grandparents and stuff and discover their heritage and instead they find out some crazy big secret like those stories just are mind-blowing

02:31:02 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 3:

i almost did 23andme i actually have a box at home of a 23andme box that i bought a while ago well that was the thing i would not do it i uh chelsea i told chelsea i'm gonna do 23andme i think this would be great and chelsea's like what why are you gonna do that and then you start realizing oh well they get they get and get your dna and all the rest of this stuff but then i started thinking what if i found out that my dad because i you know i i we found out years later after my dad died that he had been married before, but what if we find out my dad's got kids out there or something?

02:31:32 - 02:31:38 | Speaker 2:

You know what I mean? I know I got brothers and sisters in Jamaica. You think so? Oh, for sure. My dad got too much.

02:31:38 - 02:31:40 | Speaker 3:

Wait, you think he's down there?

02:31:40 - 02:31:50 | Speaker 2:

You're not joking. I'm dead ass serious. What if Shaggy was your brother? I don't want to know. See, I only want to... Can we ask him? Can we go? I mean, you can ask him. I don't want to know. I ain't trying to meet nobody else.

02:31:50 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 3:

Brittany, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:31:53 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. So, my mom many years ago gave up a baby for adoption and then like 15 years ago the baby who's an adult reached out to my mom and they realized that they only lived like 15 minutes away their whole life

02:32:06 - 02:32:13 | Speaker 3:

oh wow so did you guys reconnect and are you guys family now yeah it's kind of weird because

02:32:13 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 6:

they gave her up for adoption and then they adopted me like years later so that's kind of weird

02:32:19 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 3:

so the time timing was tough for them when they were having her yeah i think so my mom never

02:32:25 - 02:32:36 | Speaker 6:

talks about it she didn't even tell me until the child reached out to her that's how i found out do you like having a sibling though um yeah she's like 10 years old i mean she's really nice

02:32:36 - 02:32:55 | Speaker 3:

but what if your sibling's better looking than you would you be like upset by that no okay i would what what if what if your parent is on the verge of death and you're about to inherit everything and this sibling comes back into the lawyer yeah i would love to find out

02:32:55 - 02:33:22 | Speaker 6:

all my mom's secrets that she has oh really because there's so many things she does not tell me wow what do you think the biggest one is i mean first of all who the baby's dad is my own like dad doesn't even know because it's not my mom and dad's kid it's my mom's from before she met my dad and she doesn't even know who the dad is she won't she won't tell you though no she won't tell anyone it's really weird like very weird interesting makes you it makes you be

02:33:22 - 02:33:29 | Speaker 3:

a little skeptical of every guy that comes around what's up madison hello hi you found out you had

02:33:29 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 5:

some uh brothers and sisters yeah so about four almost five years ago my dad decided to move to Tennessee to go be closer to my brother and before he left I've been in my two kids over to have a barbecue to say bye and get some things from the house and I get there and I had a sister a brother and their mom show up oh no yeah and I was like oh hello and now we talk all the time but it was really weird because I have 12 siblings and then you add two more to the mix and I was like oh Okay. Yeah, but at that point, what's two more? Yeah.

02:34:07 - 02:34:10 | Speaker 3:

A couple more burgers and hot dogs at a barbecue?

02:34:10 - 02:34:13 | Speaker 5:

12 to 14, I mean, tomato, tomato.

02:34:13 - 02:34:17 | Speaker 3:

How many come in a pack of buns and burgers? What's up, Melissa?

02:34:18 - 02:35:26 | Speaker 4:

Hey, guys. So I actually, my mom didn't tell me that my dad wasn't my dad until I was about 14. And then when I ended up finding my dad, he told me that I had a brother that was actually in the same town as me. um i kind of did some research a little digging and ended up finding out that we went to high school together he was three years younger than me but we went to high school together and we actually went to the same church um and i kind of held off i would see him at church on sundays and it was just kind of looked like kind of was just observing um because i didn't know his story you know um and my my dad did tell me that his he was adopted and his parents he didn't think they ever told him so i was like i'm not gonna say anything well it turns out i had another sister that i found and she said that she had reached out to him so that um like via facebook messenger or something so i was like okay well maybe i will too she did say he never responded well when i reached out he reached out to back to both of us and said i'm not giving you guys any money i don't know who you guys are like he completely like blocked us and thought we were like hammers so and they actually still go to the church as well so what what if what if uh you

02:35:26 - 02:35:31 | Speaker 3:

dated this guy like you guys went to high school together what if you ended up dating him i know

02:35:31 - 02:35:56 | Speaker 4:

he was like he said he was younger but i mean only a few years so but yeah i still see him on sundays and i thought about maybe going up to his mom and having like a conversation with her and just saying hey you know i don't want anything you know i don't you know i don't it's completely up to you if you have never told him i just want to let you know who i am because you know it is kind of hard seeing him at church on sundays you know from a distance that's crazy

02:35:56 - 02:36:01 | Speaker 6:

Mojo, did you ever watch that documentary on Netflix I told you to watch about the sperm donor guy?

02:36:01 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Okay. With the multiple.

02:36:03 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 6:

The man with a thousand kids. That's what I think about with this. It's like you have to tell your kids because what if they start dating each other? And that doesn't mean they'll tell you before they do anything.

02:36:12 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 3:

And it becomes crazy that, yeah, they do become intertwined. How about Dallas's one? Dallas, this is actually a good one. Your niece found out through doing one of these DNA tests that who was their sibling?

02:36:26 - 02:37:12 | Speaker 2:

no no no what happened was my niece had a nail tech on instagram that she liked so she went to go get her nails done and the nail tech saw a tattoo on her arm she said i like that tattoo she said oh thanks that's for my uh my grandmother who passed away who's from detroit they were in oakland california when this happened so the nail tech goes oh and i got family from detroit too oh yeah really they talked for a little bit she never got back on the tattoo she said yeah my And my father is a jazz musician. She said, oh, yeah, my family's really into jazz. She said, who's your father? And the girl goes, oh, Milt Jackson. She said, girl, we're family. And they were both looking at each other like, you lying. No, you lying. And, you know, so my niece called me and asked me questions. And we found out that my little cousin was.

02:37:12 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 3:

Wait, hold on a second.

02:37:13 - 02:37:16 | Speaker 6:

That, this is in California, this is happening.

02:37:16 - 02:37:20 | Speaker 3:

Off the nails. Are you talking Milt? Milt Jackson, the jazz performer?

02:37:20 - 02:37:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:37:21 - 02:37:22 | Speaker 2:

That's my dad.

02:37:23 - 02:37:33 | Speaker 3:

that's funny man by the way i would instantly go this person's trying to get themselves some deals

02:37:33 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 2:

on uh let's say yeah let's say no milk passed away 20 years in 2000 no i know but i'm thinking

02:37:41 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 3:

that your cousin's trying to get a deal on nails from the nail tech no no no no no she was family

02:37:48 - 02:37:54 | Speaker 2:

i brought her here this it's all happened this year i brought her here to meet her uncle who It was the last Jackson, original Jackson 5.

02:37:55 - 02:38:07 | Speaker 3:

That's craziness. Wow. That is awesome. Hey, listen to this one here. Megan's friend that she knew all through school. Megan, you there? Megan, the listener? Hi.

02:38:08 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 5:

Hi, how are you?

02:38:09 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 3:

Good. Tell the story about your friend from high school?

02:38:12 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 5:

Well, she was a couple years older than me. She wasn't my friend, really. She's kind of odd, honestly. And every time I'd pass her in the hallway, she would be like, hey, and smile real weird. And I'm like, that girl looks weird. And then a couple years later, she left a message on her answering machine saying, Hey, Dad, if you could meet with me for lunch before you leave town, that'd be great. And I found out that way that my dad was actually her dad. You are kidding me. Did she know? Is that why she was acting weird? Yes, she knew, but I didn't know. Why did your dad not tell you? Because he kept denying it. He said, no, that can't be. I mean, your mom and I were together. Apparently, they still were together. but um they did a fraternity test wow and that paternity test came back positive so she tried to reach out to me over the years off and on and then finally her and my dad reconnected and she moved back to our hometown and they get together and she has a son i guess we could be my nephew and so but you don't see her then huh um when i go to my hometown they both live there i do go to lunch with her sometimes, but it's just so awkward.

02:39:17 - 02:39:20 | Speaker 6:

Is hometown around here? It's in Missouri.

02:39:20 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 5:

I call her my sister person. Your sister person? My sister person. How many sisters? I have one, and then I have a sister person.

02:39:32 - 02:39:45 | Speaker 3:

Also a voicemail, though. Wow. Oh, my God. Lydia wants me to do one more, but I got a long commercial break that I got to get to. and then War of the Roses be, we've got to be quick with yours. Your voices, guys, what's up?

02:39:46 - 02:40:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, so at 16, I found out that my dad's best friend was my dad, and I found out through a big argument. I wasn't supposed to find out, but... I grew up with my dad's best friend calling him my uncle and calling his kids my cousins. And I found out at 16 that he was my dad, and I tried to talk to my new siblings, and they don't believe it.

02:40:15 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 7:

They're not having it. Wait, so question for you, with your dad's best friend being your actual dad, did your dad know that your mom slept with your dad's best friend?

02:40:26 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 1:

So at this point, my dad had already passed away. So I could never confirm that with him if he knew. Wow.

02:40:33 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 7:

But that's wild. That's wild that that's the case. I mean, gosh, again, you could have a relationship with your dad's best friend's kids because you hang out with them so much. That would be weird.

02:40:44 - 02:40:50 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that pretty much ruined our relationship when I told them, like, hey, I'm actually your guy's sister.

02:40:50 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

02:40:51 - 02:40:52 | Unknown:

Wow.

02:40:52 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 7:

Crazy stories.
