This is Mojo in the Morning, Mojo, Mojo, and the Rockets' red glare. You're not being logical is what I'm saying. This is like an orgasm in a cup.

00:02:54 - 00:03:26 | Unknown:

Showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:26 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 4:

mojo on the morning show got to uh see mike everything worked out with your dentist uh procedure your your surgery that you had uh last week everything was okay um yeah for the most part

00:03:56 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 5:

I mean, it's the start of a whole long process, so yeah.

00:03:59 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 3:

What was wrong? Did they put that tooth in or what? That means you knew how to hold it.

00:04:03 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so there was a roof now that I got in college that went bad, and I didn't have insurance. And so basically I've been fighting to keep it going, and then they had to just remove the tooth completely. So they're putting in an implant, and then I went in to go get it basically started. So you've got to put in the implant, and then you put stuff around it. So you've got to wait for months and months and months for it to heal. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it was a whole thing, but they have to, I'm like nervous about the dentist anyways, and my wife knows that. Even with her being there, I still just didn't, you know, because of the, how long this has taken, like, it just, I'm not a fan right now of going to the dentist, because I'm always afraid they're going to be like, oh, there's something else in there, something else in there, and there's not, but, so she's like, when you come, I want you to, you're going to do the gas, and I used to call it the magic carpet ride, which is the, which is the, I forget what it's like. Is it NO2 or whatever it is? I don't know what it is. Isn't it like nitrous?

00:05:00 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 2:

I think, yeah, I think so. And so it completely, I don't know if she turned it up or what, but it calmed me down like a lot, a lot. And it turns out when my brain calms like that, this is how I know I have ADD and I'm like super anxious. Like I probably should take something for it. Because once I was in that calm state, you could not stop me from saying anything. Oh, really? Oh, yeah. There's no filter. there's no like you know those like situations where somebody does something and you're like i should say something but i don't really you know i don't really want to cause a problem or i don't want to you know i don't be an inconvenience uh or you know it just doesn't need to be said none of those things applied so like and you don't know you're doing it because you're drugged right yeah well i'm just it's just it's just a calming feeling and and yeah yeah i'm

00:05:51 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 1:

just relaxed more than i i am every day for those again that don't know your wife's one of the employees of this dental office that you're doing this yeah so her husband is the patient divulging probably a lot of things oh what did you overshare uh so the first thing was i stopped

00:06:10 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

him mid-procedure because he called me uh he called me joe and i was like hold up yeah i don't know why he's that it's the second time he's done it i have no idea why do you think your

00:06:22 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 3:

wife is embarrassed of you and she just calls you joe

00:06:25 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 2:

no because she gave him a look too like his name you know his name his name is not joe look because that's her other man and so uh that was the first thing and then so they they when they set me up to to uh get ready for the procedure they they really like called me down they knew i was nervous so they gave me noise canceling headphones and like a weighted blanket yeah like it was a whole like thing and um and she walks in and i'm scrolling on tiktok waiting for this stuff to kick in and it had kicked in i think and and i hit what i guess is called uh words of affirmation tiktok which i don't know if you know what that is like on tiktok i know you i know what you know what words of affirmation are but on tiktok it's like a female usually doing a almost like a mom voice and she's saying you know what you're doing great good job i can't even do the voice correctly but amazing

00:07:25 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 3:

don't stop you're so good at it you've been such a good boy i'm so proud of you oh my god so my face

00:07:33 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 2:

is it is completely blank at this point and my mouth is wide open and i'm just listening and She's like, what are you watching? And I start telling her that, like, I don't know what this TikTok is, but it's so calming. And I don't know. I feel some kind of way. I don't know if I should feel like this, but it's so weird. But I kind of like it. But that's weird, right?

00:07:52 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 1:

I hit the TikTok, and I'm going to tell you something right now. Let me show you what she looks like. Oh, no. Is she cute? This is her.

00:07:59 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh. You're such a good boy. Such a good boy, Mike or Joe.

00:08:05 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 1:

Leaning over at the camera with her cleavage out.

00:08:08 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 2:

yeah i didn't even like i guess i just started i there was no i wasn't like oh this turns me on or anything like that but i was like i don't know what some about this alley it makes me feel some kind of way and she's just listening to me because i at this point i'm just talking like i'm just there's nothing she can even say and i didn't realize it so after the fact because i forgot i even showed her that and so ever since then she's just been walking around going you're such a good

00:08:31 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 1:

boy mike like just messing with me is is your wife administering this uh you know what did you call it again the happy gas what did you call it the magic carpet magic carpet right yeah is your wife administering the magic carpet ride gas yes yep so that's an interesting thing because you know my wife's not in the medical field but i i don't know if i want my wife administering that because what if she gets mad at you the night before and decides she's going to give you a

00:09:00 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 2:

little less gas than you need i don't i don't know i don't know i probably would have said a lot

00:09:05 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 1:

i probably would have said anything she could have asked me anything or you'd feel a lot you know what i mean if you if you didn't get it that much you know didn't get much oh you got too much of that stuff oh oh yeah yeah like if she was mad i'd feel like all the pain and stuff yeah right like i'm gonna make him i'm gonna make joe get a little show i know i don't know what i have no idea why he calls me that um that's wild uh that that uh that stuff makes you uh feel that way it makes you and then probably overshare did you share any stuff that you shouldn't have shared with the the doctor like stuff about your family or marriage or anything like that i i don't know

00:09:43 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 2:

i started talking about everything like he would ask you know how dennis asks you like a question and it's like a sometimes it's a yes or no but sometimes it's like a really in-depth question

00:09:52 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I'm like, why are you asking me this? Your hand is in my mouth.

00:09:56 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

Yes, I made him stop so I could tell him. I'm like, hold on, hold on. And I would like.

00:10:00 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 5:

my hand up so that i could tell him and i don't remember exactly what was asked but i would have answered anything i've often wondered when dennis do that what is the reasoning are they trying to stall the actual procedure or you know you you can't talk at all you got all that stuff in your mouth oh my gosh so ali uh ali said everything came out okay everything's good you're doing good oh yeah i think i was yeah i guess would you guys she said i was a good boy would you want your relationship people you know your boyfriend shannon spike your girlfriend uh for me my wife i don't know if i'd want them to be the one administering the gas to me no no for sure why not because i would really have to worry about what our last conversation was like at home and did i pick up everything i was supposed to pick up did i clean put the dishes

00:10:49 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 2:

away also like just the vulnerability there of what are you gonna say because i know wes would totally take advantage of that situation and ask me all the questions that i still probably haven't

00:11:01 - 00:11:39 | Speaker 3:

given him well it's bad enough like um i'm having a medical procedure done on friday and megan's gonna drive me home after i've been gassed and is this your butt thing uh it's well it's the butt thing i'm having two i'm having two things done i'm having my esophagus uh because of my allergies done and then i'm having my very first colonoscopy so they're doing both in the same time so they're knocking me out for like three hours and i and i'm but that you have to have a driver and you're still silly afterwards so i'm already going through the whole you're not recording me you're not you know don't record me i know you're already looking forward to this we're gonna have to find

00:11:39 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 2:

out if we can talk to her and to recording but even 10 000 recording but even like mike's

00:11:46 - 00:11:53 | Speaker 3:

situation if they're there when you're first coming off the gas and you're saying all kinds

00:11:53 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 4:

of stupid stuff it's gonna be a test for the relationship oh that's not even the worst what's worse for you is they won't let you leave until you start farting in front of a nurse oh no really

00:12:03 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 3:

True story.

00:12:05 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. You've got to fart in front of them before they let you leave.

00:12:08 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

That's okay. I fart in front of these guys every morning. Yeah.

00:12:12 - 00:12:31 | Speaker 5:

The worst also is as they're getting ready to do the procedure and you have nothing on underneath your gown on the bottoms. Right. And the person might come up there and go, oh, my God, I do listen to your show. Yeah. They all know who I am. That's the last time that you want them to actually know that. Right. Awesome. All right. Mojo in the morning.

00:12:31 - 00:12:45 | Speaker 1:

To have and to hold. Till cheating do we part. War of the Roses, coming up at 7 on Mojo in the Morning. We love our Mojo. Back to Mojo in the Morning.

00:12:51 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. I just told a very funny story about why people should not name their dogs what they name their dogs.

00:13:03 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 3:

So I was on my way into a coffee shop, and I hear this lady yelling, Mason! Mason! I look over, and she looks distraught. She's like, Mason! And I thought, oh my God, there's a lost kid in this parking lot, and it's on a very busy four-lane road right by the road. You know, and I'm like, I run over like I'm going to help her. And within a second, I realize she's holding a leash and she was walking her dog and somehow the dog got loose. She's looking for her dog. Well, as soon as she yells, as soon as I get over there, the dog comes running up to her. And I'm like, for a second, I had a heart attack like, oh, my God, help this woman, Mason. And then I realize it's a dog. And I'm like, you can't name a dog a human name. That is not a dog name. Mason is a little kid's name. Is it a kid? No. No, I was. Oh, of course, Megan's going to say that. Coraline's all sounds. I'm very offended.

00:14:00 - 00:14:01 | Speaker 4:

I feel personally attacked.

00:14:02 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 5:

Megan named Coraline Coraline.

00:14:06 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 4:

I can't believe you remembered.

00:14:08 - 00:14:15 | Speaker 5:

Although, why do you always seem so amazed when I know the name of your dog or brother? I don't know. You always act like that.

00:14:16 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 4:

Because I truly don't.

00:14:17 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 5:

Do I have dementia or something like that? Are you worried about it?

00:14:21 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 4:

No, I never say my brother's name. And then you had a hard time remembering my dog's name for a very, very long time. That's right. Yeah, but my dog's name is Coraline.

00:14:33 - 00:14:50 | Speaker 5:

Actually, the first time I heard you say Coraline, I thought to myself, I'm like, is that somebody in the studio with her? But Mason, I will say this, Spike. I'm going to agree with Spike on this one. because there are certain names that Mason is a little kid's name. You can't name a dog Mason.

00:14:51 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 3:

I panicked, and I was like, no, no, no, no, don't do that. No one should, aside from this whole emergency situation, nobody should name their name.

00:15:00 - 00:15:13 | Speaker 1:

their dog a name that's clearly your child's name she was probably uh thought you were very sweet for doing that because you should equally want to help a person well true whose child or dog is

00:15:13 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 5:

missing right and it's funny because i would have probably been even just as excited to help find a dog that was loose but in the in the mindset for a second i panicked like call the cops oh my god i'm gonna run in traffic and stop traffic like you know and then i was i don't know why i thought like well obviously i would still be just as concerned about a missing dog but at

00:15:31 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 1:

that moment i was annoyed at her for fooling me i will i will say this though that the part that i think is weird about people that name their dogs after like relatives of theirs like i knew somebody that one time named uh their dog after their uncle who had passed and i have to tell you that i think that's very nice you're thinking of your uncle but don't you think your uncle deserves more than

00:15:53 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 5:

just getting a dog's name right i know it's and remember i believe we got a call once and i don't know if that listener's still calling because i don't remember her name but they they stole she was about to have a baby and her sister got a dog and named the dog what she was going to name her child remember i can't remember what the girl's name was but i would have been so pissed

00:16:15 - 00:16:36 | Speaker 1:

at my sister for that how about uh how about some of these ones here all four of my dogs are human names max madeline riley and emma that does sound like a kindergarten class nowadays doesn't it are we listing them as dependents on our irs forms here's one uh line five what's your friend's dog's

00:16:36 - 00:16:47 | Speaker 2:

name hi sarah hi good morning um my friend named her dog kevin kevin kevin yeah i mean that's

00:16:47 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 5:

literally the punchline of the the movie up where the bird is named kevin because it's so funny

00:16:53 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 2:

because you would never expect that exactly and i'm like are you talking about your kid did you guys get another kid she's like no it's our dog i'm like oh okay kevin it is kevin that's funny

00:17:05 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 1:

all right thank you for the uh the call lauren what's going on hi hey um i just texted my my

00:17:12 - 00:17:26 | Speaker 4:

dog passed away a month ago but his name was dylan dylan i also have a friend whose husband is named dylan so it's kind of a mix-up sometimes you would talk about it that actually is that is

00:17:26 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 1:

very um very masonish like spike was saying mason so or how about our dog hold on our or or hold on the joe show just walked into the uh to the studio right now uh so joe is here and joe my son. He doesn't call them our dogs. What do you call them? Good boy!

00:17:47 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 5:

It's acceptable. I can't remember. What are your dog's names?

00:17:52 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Now I'm offended. I know Megan's dog and

00:17:55 - 00:18:06 | Speaker 5:

brother's name. Well, I always remembered Lily, who was the greatest human dog ever to walk the earth. I know his dog's name. Lily was a dog. Lily, you don't ever talk about these dogs except to call them little S-words.

00:18:07 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 1:

That's true. Lily, by the way, you would look into Lily's eyes and you would see Lily's soul because Lily was a human. What are our dog's names? Henry and Louie. Henry and Louie. How do you not know Henry and Louie?

00:18:20 - 00:18:22 | Speaker 5:

I remembered Henry. I couldn't remember Louie.

00:18:23 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 1:

Actually, the funniest is Henry is spelled H-E-N-R-I. And Louie is spelled Louie but people call Louie Lewis. So Marissa, who dog sits for Louie and henry calls uh calls henry and lewis go and i never correct her but it sounds so smart they sound like smart dogs and and your dog is dublin spike which which dublin is a great name but that's a dog that's a perfect name for a dog because you're naming dublin after your favorite

00:18:55 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 5:

city yeah there's no confusion i don't think anyone's going to think i'm talking to a toddler although i have seen trendy baby names now where they are naming after cities and then there's

00:19:06 - 00:19:24 | Speaker 1:

ashley who hates dogs right cats all day baby god you and cats by the way you've always liked uh liked uh cats haven't you i love the pussy cats grab cheryl here hi cheryl it's mojo in the morning how you doing oh joe i'm great what's

00:19:24 - 00:19:33 | Speaker 3:

going on so what did your sister-in-law do uh she named her dog d-o-g and it took me like a full year to realize what it was actually spelling out, which is D-O-G, dog.

00:19:34 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 1:

Wait. Oh, my gosh. How does she spell it?

00:19:38 - 00:19:42 | Speaker 3:

D-O-G. Like, it spelled D-O-G, and her name was D-O-G.

00:19:44 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 1:

So, when you say it, it's D, the letter D-O-G, not D-E-E, and then O-G. Like, it's actually spelled

00:19:52 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 3:

D-O-G. Yeah, it's spelled dog, but she's also named D-O-G.

00:19:55 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 1:

Can you call, like, can you have a dog that's name is just dog?

00:20:00 - 00:20:02 | Speaker 3:

Doesn't that look like you kidnapped the dog?

00:20:03 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. I thought it was pretty weird myself. Like, I spent a full year just not getting it, and everyone was laughing every time, like, I would bring it up. And I'm like, I don't understand.

00:20:12 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 3:

Question for you. How much weed do you guys partake in?

00:20:17 - 00:20:18 | Speaker 1:

That side, quite a bit.

00:20:18 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. I figured that out. All right. Thank you for the call.

00:20:23 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 1:

No problem. I love you guys.

00:20:25 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 3:

All right. We love you, too. Bye. Wouldn't laugh so hard you'd pee your pants? Listen to The Phone Scam. This is Morning at 6.50 on Mojo in the Morning. So Megan got hit on, and it wasn't a happy hit on, right? Like, there's certain types of hit-ons that are kind of cool. Like, you know what I mean? You get hit on by some hot guy or hot girl.

00:20:51 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 2:

Right.

00:20:51 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 3:

And then there's one where it's like somebody that looks like, you know, Reese hitting on you. And then it's like. Right.

00:20:57 - 00:20:57 | Speaker 2:

And then you're like.

00:20:57 - 00:21:00 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah.

00:21:02 - 00:21:04 | Speaker 2:

Somebody didn't have his headphones on when I went, bleh.

00:21:06 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I get an insult, Reese, and Reese still gives an oh, yeah for that one. So what happened?

00:21:12 - 00:22:33 | Speaker 2:

So here at the Toledo building, we are in downtown Toledo, and sometimes when I'm stressed or mad, I just, I go outside and I sit at the picnic table and sometimes I tic-tac for a little while. my boss is listening I don't do that but if he's not listening I definitely do that and this guy pulled up he was a little bit lost looking for a building uh the streets are a little confusing I get it and he asked for directions and I gave them to him now before I get into this very nice man if you're listening so sorry I'm about to spoil this for you um but after I give him directions he gets out of his car and he goes oh thank you so much are you married and I go no and the first thing that popped in my head uh was just uh lie I don't know why that was the first thing that popped in my head but it was um I guess it wasn't a lie maybe just a little bit of a stretch of the truth and I just went sorry dude we played for the same team and he without acknowledging me turned around slammed his car door slammed on his gas pedal and sped off a little part of me was like usually is a lesbian usually people don't drop it and they are like we

00:22:33 - 00:22:40 | Speaker 3:

can get a third in there baby yeah or they go oh yeah i love that you know yeah or i'd like to watch

00:22:40 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 2:

that so a little part of me was offended that he just drove off and dropped it because like i'm worth fighting for and another part of me was like wow i should use that more often like don't get me wrong i play for both teams but if i'm not if i'm not on your page i just say i play for

00:23:03 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 3:

one team yeah it should be an easier way to reject let somebody down because then it's it's kind of Like, it's not you, it's me. Megan is in the American and National League. Exactly. Okay, so is that a common thing, like, where you have to come up with something? Like, when you have somebody hit on you. Like, I'd love to know if the listeners have, like, their how to get out of somebody hitting on you that you don't want hitting on you. Like, what do you say? Because that's actually a pretty good one. I play for the same team. Thanks. Yeah. I'd say thanks. I kind of like that one. Do people have other little kind of cool things that they do that they'd like to share? Maybe a story, too. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. With all the times I get hit on.

00:23:49 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 4:

I was thinking the same thing.

00:23:53 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I've ever had that happen to me. And actually, if it did happen to me, I don't care what they looked like. I'd be like, yeah. Come over here, buddy. I'll play for whatever team you want me to play for.

00:24:06 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 2:

You heard it here first.

00:24:08 - 00:24:13 | Speaker 3:

I love it. By the way, I'm going to say this right now. I love when gay dudes hit on me. I love it. The compliment.

00:24:13 - 00:24:16 | Speaker 2:

I agree. I love getting hit on by lesbians.

00:24:16 - 00:25:03 | Speaker 3:

By lesbians? Yeah. My two favorite. So I get hit on by two people who I always tell Chelsea, if something, God forbid, ever happens to Chelsea, and I hope we never get divorced, and I hope nothing ever happens to her. I hope she outlives me. But if something ever happens My next wife's going to be a black woman And my next husband's going to be a gay man I don't know One of those two I'm going for one of those two My next husband I know But those are the two that I get hit on Which one are you going to go for first? I'm curious Whoever comes first Okay Who's your first husband? Yes Well, I'll tell you a little bit about him a little later He's a guy that lives in Toledo And he said he loves Megan Yeah. What's going on Alyssa

00:25:03 - 00:25:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah hey good morning guys

00:25:05 - 00:25:08 | Speaker 3:

What is your way to get out of somebody hitting on you

00:25:08 - 00:25:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm married now But when I was not engaged or married My girlfriends and I would wear fake engagement rings And I mean Even if I was just in a relationship Sometimes hearing I just have a boyfriend They're not really They don't stop at that I was just going to say sadly

00:25:24 - 00:25:28 | Speaker 2:

I don't even think rings stop guys anymore They're so bold

00:25:29 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 5:

It's a little bit more convincing than just saying, you know, I have a boyfriend. But it worked for the most part. If we got a free drink out of it, I was totally in. But bye.

00:25:37 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 3:

Wait, I kind of think that that's cool. You have a prop. And you keep a prop available.

00:25:43 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I did it when I was bartending, too, because you get creepy there. And I'm like, you know, if it works when I'm going out, or as a bartender, I'm going to take it going out and it works.

00:25:51 - 00:25:52 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. What's up, Sydney?

00:25:53 - 00:26:09 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I actually just saw Spike this weekend. I saw a book cross. Woo, woo. Hi, Spike again. Hi. My mom does this thing where she had a short guy hit on her once, and she went above his head and was like, you have to be this tall to ride this ride.

00:26:10 - 00:26:12 | Speaker 2:

Jeez. Wow.

00:26:13 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 7:

That's so funny.

00:26:14 - 00:26:21 | Speaker 3:

Glad your mom wasn't on our pub, girl. Sydney, obvious answer here, obvious question here. Could Spike ride your mom?

00:26:22 - 00:26:29 | Speaker 4:

She was the naughty cool girl. We stan short kings on this show

00:26:29 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 3:

I don't think I By the way, in the history of doing this radio show I don't think I ever asked somebody If you could ride their mom Hi, Marina Marnia Whatever Marnia, nice to have you here

00:26:48 - 00:26:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like Chronicles of Narnia

00:26:49 - 00:26:53 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay What's going on? What's your excuse?

00:26:54 - 00:27:01 | Speaker 4:

So if a guy tries to hit on me, I say that I'm pregnant, and then I just start gagging as if I need to throw up.

00:27:01 - 00:27:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Oh, my God. How fast do they run?

00:27:06 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 6:

But there are some guys that they are into that. They wouldn't care.

00:27:11 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 4:

That's great, though. No, but the vomiting throws them off. Yeah, yeah.

00:27:16 - 00:27:21 | Speaker 3:

What does it say about guys that women have to go to that level to get them to walk away?

00:27:21 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 6:

Because y'all don't take no for an answer. It's awful.

00:27:27 - 00:27:28 | Speaker 3:

Ashley, hi.

00:27:29 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning, guys. How are you?

00:27:31 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's going on?

00:27:33 - 00:28:07 | Speaker 6:

Not much on my way to work. I thought I'd call in and let you guys know how I say no. So, yeah, I mean, I also wear a ring, but I wear it on my middle finger for certain reasons because I'm trying to attract a certain person. But when all else fails, I actually say I politely decline. And I get this look of, wait, you're actually saying no? And I'm like, yeah, no, I really politely decline. Thank you for the compliment. I appreciate it, but no. And, yeah, I mean.

00:28:07 - 00:28:15 | Speaker 3:

When you say, go back to something real quick. You say you wear it on your middle finger because you're looking for a specific person. Save us the Google. What does that mean? What does that mean?

00:28:15 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 6:

um so i am a trying i'm trying to attract a guy that pays attention to detail i wear a diamond ring that i bought myself on my middle finger not on my ring finger because i want a guy to um notice that i do have a ring on my finger it'll pose a conversation and then it starts a conversation um and i want a guy to buy me a better ring than the one i bought myself and so

00:28:42 - 00:29:01 | Speaker 3:

um yeah that's not what i was thinking i was thinking there's some kind of kinky thing here i was thinking yeah like some signal to wear a ring but i was like okay what was that all about it's kind of like putting a pineapple out in front of your house or something i don't know what's going on uh voice disguise i got a voice disguise you kelly i got it all fired up how are

00:29:01 - 00:29:14 | Speaker 1:

you good um so i've been married quite a while and if someone is being a little too pushy at a bar or a restaurant, I tell them that, you know, you probably don't want me because I'm looking to drop a log on someone's chest tonight.

00:29:14 - 00:29:24 | Speaker 2:

Whoa! Wow! Wow! I'm wondering if I have to dump that or not. I don't want to dump it. I think it's vague enough. It's obscure.

00:29:25 - 00:29:29 | Speaker 4:

What reaction do you get? Yeah, you don't have to dump that. I've got to write that down.

00:29:29 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 1:

Just look at you and turn and walk away because they're completely disgusted, and then I'm good for the rest of the evening. No one else will come up to me.

00:29:35 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 6:

Has anyone been in, though?

00:29:38 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Kelly, I'm really nervous. No, I've actually been very lucky.

00:29:41 - 00:29:41 | Unknown:

No one has been in.

00:29:42 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 2:

Eventually, somebody's going to go, oh, yeah, let's go.

00:29:46 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, you're my girl.

00:29:48 - 00:29:54 | Speaker 2:

No, that sound effect we have to dump. Dump the dump.

00:29:54 - 00:29:59 | Speaker 3:

I like Bridget's. Bridget's is just plain and simple. Bridget, what do you say?

00:30:00 - 00:30:02 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry. Hold on a second.

00:30:06 - 00:30:16 | Speaker 2:

I'm getting you to move on, though. Yeah, sorry. Can I get your number?

00:30:16 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 5:

Sure. Try again, Bridget. What do you say?

00:30:26 - 00:30:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm brutally honest. I look at them. I'm very high maintenance. Your bathroom's going to look like a drugstore I have 300 pairs of shoes And you're probably better off with a poodle Wow

00:30:37 - 00:30:47 | Speaker 2:

You know, some guys like crazy Like that might not scare them away Because they're not They're going to think, well, I'll still do you tonight I just don't want to marry you

00:30:47 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 4:

Well, then I order a bottle of Perrier Jouette

00:30:51 - 00:30:57 | Speaker 5:

Ah, there you go Put it on the credit card Just be as high maintenance as possible And are you high maintenance in real life?

00:30:57 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 4:

no not really okay all right yeah my my husband will tell you i'm i'm pretty down all right let's

00:31:05 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 5:

call him i wonder what kind of phone he has when all you want is to be left alone but also get

00:31:11 - 00:31:17 | Speaker 1:

constant attention is that too much to ask this is mojo in the morning now for a phone scam on

00:31:17 - 00:31:22 | Speaker 5:

mojo in the morning spike actually recorded this phone scam two months ago do you want to explain

00:31:22 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 2:

why you recorded this uh two months ago yeah we had to hold on to it and we couldn't play it on the air until this morning because it was about a gender reveal party so we'd wait until after the party so we wouldn't spoil the surprise for anybody at the gender reveal yeah wouldn't that

00:31:36 - 00:31:45 | Speaker 5:

be a bust if all of a sudden we do that so we're actually going to be uh phone scamming who is this abby all right and what's the story with that she was put in charge of getting the cake for the

00:31:45 - 00:31:56 | Speaker 2:

party by her best friend like the couple asked her to get it and they asked her to use the couple's great uncle who's a baker but listen to the confusion as abby meets the great uncle

00:31:56 - 00:32:06 | Speaker 1:

because that's me we will we will scam you sorry it's a catchy song it's your home with phone scams

00:32:06 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning hello hello there i'm gonna call on the speaker to abigail please hi this is abby my name is grogu jedda master baker the email said you needed a caker for a baby

00:32:24 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, the cake's not for a baby. It's for a gender reveal party.

00:32:29 - 00:32:31 | Speaker 2:

Okay, I love a party. How old is a baby?

00:32:32 - 00:32:40 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, the baby's not born yet, so it's really for the pregnant mom and the dad. It's a gender reveal. Have you heard of those?

00:32:40 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 2:

No, I never did that one, but whatever you need, I make it for you. Talk me through what you want the cake to look like.

00:32:48 - 00:32:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, okay. So the cake's for a party. So at the end of the party, we find out the gender of the baby by cutting into it.

00:32:55 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 2:

You cut into the baby?

00:32:57 - 00:33:04 | Speaker 3:

No. No, we cut into the cake. It's pink on the inside. So they find out that they're having a girl.

00:33:04 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 2:

And then on top, it says, congratulations on your beautiful baby girl.

00:33:09 - 00:33:12 | Speaker 3:

So on the top, it'll say nothing because we don't want to spoil the surprise.

00:33:12 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

So pink a cake, and it says on the top, congratulations, you're having a nothing.

00:33:19 - 00:33:29 | Speaker 3:

No. So have you done a gender reveal cake before? It's kind of like a trend where you cut into the cake and it's either pink or blue. So then you know it's a boy or a girl.

00:33:29 - 00:33:31 | Speaker 2:

So it should be a pink and blue inside.

00:33:32 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 3:

No, it should be pink on the inside because it's a girl and then with nothing written on top.

00:33:38 - 00:33:39 | Speaker 2:

No frosting.

00:33:39 - 00:33:41 | Speaker 3:

No, it should have frosting.

00:33:41 - 00:33:45 | Speaker 2:

So a pink cake with a pink frosting and nothing written on top.

00:33:45 - 00:33:53 | Speaker 3:

no um we want white frosting so that you can't see the color of the cake on the inside

00:33:53 - 00:34:01 | Speaker 2:

which is white frosting but how about the blue you just mentioned i can do a pinker cake with a blue frosting and then you'd be surprised when they cut into it because it's not a blue it's a

00:34:01 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 3:

pink i think if we did that it might be kind of confusing for them so i just prefer if we just

00:34:07 - 00:34:13 | Speaker 2:

did white frosting i get it i apologize you must think i hit in my head or something you want a

00:34:13 - 00:34:28 | Speaker 3:

cake that's shaped like an actual baby? No, just a normal round cake with pink on the inside and white on the outside. And on top of you want? Just nothing, just plain. And what colors do you want

00:34:28 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 2:

the letters? What letters? You said that you wanted me to write nothing on the top of the cake. Oh my God. How about a cupcake? So we make a three dozen of pink and a three dozen of blue.

00:34:42 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry. Maybe I'll have Josh call you. Maybe he can explain it better.

00:34:46 - 00:35:06 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my little Joshy. I knew him when he was just a baby, and now he's having a baby. I'm so happy. You need Grogu Jeddah, Master Baker, and I have to give you suggestions because I've been to baking a party. 32 years how about i make it for you a cheesecake that's my specialty people like the cheesecake

00:35:06 - 00:35:19 | Speaker 3:

yeah cheesecake's good but um i'll have to talk to josh and payton and maybe they'll they'll pick a different dessert and we can get the gender reveal cake from somewhere else i understand

00:35:19 - 00:35:47 | Speaker 2:

what you want okay let me see a plain of white cake when you cut into it the cake is pink so everyone can say oh my gosh they're expecting a baby girl that's exactly exactly what we want and on top of the cake no no no we write in the big blue ladders no we write you just have been a victim of a mojo in the morning phone scam abby this is spike and you're on the radio right now

00:35:47 - 00:35:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God, who am I talking to?

00:35:51 - 00:35:53 | Speaker 2:

Josh and Peyton set you up.

00:35:53 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to kill them.

00:35:57 - 00:36:01 | Speaker 2:

You were so sweet, though. You were trying to explain it over and over again.

00:36:02 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 3:

I was like, I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do, but he's not getting it.

00:36:08 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. That's awesome. Abby, we're going to actually send you a copy of this phone scam so you can play it at the gender reveal party for everyone.

00:36:16 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, that's great.

00:36:21 - 00:36:36 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Your home of the world-famous phone scams. Mojo in the Morning. Cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

00:36:37 - 00:36:39 | Speaker 1:

Molly, who is it that you think is cheating?

00:36:40 - 00:36:41 | Speaker 4:

My husband.

00:36:42 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 1:

Can you tell us a little bit about why?

00:36:45 - 00:36:50 | Speaker 4:

It's a typical thing. He's been acting really, really strange, really weird lately.

00:36:51 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 2:

So your intuition is that something is up?

00:36:54 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Is there something, like, specific? Yeah. Well, there's just some of these strange happenings at night. So I go to bed and wake up, and he's not there. And I'll call him, and he'll say he's at the office, that there was an emergency.

00:37:15 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 1:

Like in the middle of the night?

00:37:18 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And what does he do? He's an IT for... Okay.

00:37:25 - 00:37:34 | Speaker 1:

Okay. And so he will get phone calls from work to go to work, and it could be at all hours of the day?

00:37:36 - 00:37:41 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, occasionally they do have big issues, but it seems like it's been happening a lot.

00:37:41 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 1:

Now, there is something else that has happened that is, to me, the most suspect of all of your reasons why you think that your husband's cheating on you. Will you tell us about that?

00:37:57 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. One big thing happened is that I got a call on my phone number saying they had a furniture delivery for me for a brand new mattress. But the address that they had was not our address.

00:38:16 - 00:38:21 | Speaker 1:

What was the address? Where was this mattress supposedly supposed to be delivered to?

00:38:23 - 00:38:24 | Speaker 4:

It's an apartment complex.

00:38:25 - 00:38:30 | Speaker 1:

And did they say they said his name or your name or whose name?

00:38:34 - 00:38:41 | Speaker 4:

They said his name was on it, but my phone number was on there because we've bought furniture from this place before.

00:38:41 - 00:38:46 | Speaker 1:

That's kind of weird So how do you know It was an apartment complex

00:38:46 - 00:38:56 | Speaker 4:

Oh well Because I've been there I've been there a lot actually For the last month I've waited outside

00:38:56 - 00:39:10 | Speaker 1:

You actually waited outside The actual apartment complex Where it was delivered to So you had them give you the address Yeah And what did you do Your own surveillance

00:39:10 - 00:39:22 | Speaker 4:

i guess and did you find anything no i haven't seen anyone come or go wow i mean a mattress

00:39:22 - 00:40:09 | Speaker 1:

delivery is a pretty weird thing you are by the way very patient that you would uh i would not say anything to him or right away wow but i guess you're trying to catch him doing what he's not supposed to be doing and that is who knows who he's buying furniture for um on the phone with us right now is molly she thinks her husband is cheating how many years you guys been together 12 you guys got kids yeah we have two wow two kids man all right we're gonna call him up we're gonna see where he's gonna send a dozen free roses i want you to hang on the phone for a second. Okay. Mojo in the morning. War of the Roses.

00:40:19 - 00:40:19 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

00:40:20 - 00:40:21 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I'm looking for Henry.

00:40:24 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, listen.

00:40:26 - 00:40:44 | Speaker 2:

Henry, good morning. My name is Nicole, and I'm calling from an internet floral company called rosesbloom.com with an offer for some free flowers. Do you have a spare, like, 20 or 30 seconds to answer two survey questions for me? And we're going to give you a dozen long-stemmed red roses to send anywhere in the country absolutely free of charge.

00:40:48 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, sure.

00:40:50 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Henry, have you purchased flowers in the past six months?

00:40:58 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 4:

Maybe.

00:40:58 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

00:41:06 - 00:41:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:41:07 - 00:41:24 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That's all I need from you. And as a thank you for participating in that survey, our company name again is rosesbloom.com, and we're going to provide you with one dozen long-stemmed red roses. I just need to get some info from you in terms of who you want to send these to, okay? Okay. So I need a first and a last name to start.

00:41:26 - 00:41:26 | Speaker 4:

Jessica.

00:41:26 - 00:41:42 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and last name? Okay, and before I get Jessica's phone number and some other info from you, I do want to let you know that we can also include a card with a short message on it. Would you be interested in that?

00:41:44 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 4:

Sure.

00:41:45 - 00:41:46 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and what did you want it to say?

00:41:50 - 00:41:51 | Speaker 4:

I love you.

00:41:52 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and that's all you want it to say, and then just sign your name?

00:41:56 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:41:56 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Just so I also have Jessica's info on your file, what is her relationship to you?

00:42:07 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 4:

She's my girlfriend.

00:42:09 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Great. And Henry, I have to let you know as well that this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you okay with that?

00:42:17 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:42:18 - 00:42:19 | Speaker 2:

Great.

00:42:20 - 00:43:09 | Speaker 1:

Henry, it sounds like we woke you up. Do we just wake you up? Yeah. We apologize about that. So I'm just going to take two more seconds of your time to let you know that while we've been talking with you, that your wife, Molly, heard every word that you just said and that she's on the phone right now and heard you send flowers to another woman. Henry? Henry, your wife, Molly, is on the phone with us right now. Okay.

00:43:10 - 00:43:11 | Speaker 4:

He just hung up.

00:43:16 - 00:43:20 | Speaker 1:

Molly, why would he be sleeping? You said that he would be at work.

00:43:23 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I mean, I guess he's over there.

00:43:31 - 00:43:33 | Speaker 1:

What time did he leave the house today?

00:43:36 - 00:43:40 | Speaker 3:

He usually leaves at 5 o'clock to go work out and then goes to work.

00:43:42 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to try to get him back on the phone with us.

00:43:45 - 00:43:45 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:43:46 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 1:

All right, hang on the phone, okay?

00:43:48 - 00:43:49 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:43:50 - 00:43:54 | Speaker 3:

Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Morning's War of the Roses. War of the Roses.

00:43:54 - 00:43:56 | Speaker 1:

I absolutely love it.

00:43:56 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the morning. Call the show now. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548.

00:44:08 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

You are listening to Mojo in the morning. So a wife suspects that her husband is cheating. There's a number of different reasons why. One was this mysterious furniture delivery that came, and it wasn't delivered to their house. But when they were called about the delivery, it was told that there was another address, which turned out to be an address within an apartment complex, not that close to the home of Molly and her husband, Henry. So that's one of those things. And then the other one was, he will leave in the middle of the night, sneak out, and then when she says, where are you?

00:45:00 - 00:45:16 | Speaker 2:

He will say that he has to go to work Because he has emergency stuff that's going on That just seemed like So suspect to me I mean I get it Listen we've got people that work here at our radio station Many engineers That are in IT and engineering And there are issues that come

00:45:16 - 00:45:22 | Speaker 3:

But when it's happening very frequently All of a sudden it becomes a red flag

00:45:22 - 00:45:24 | Speaker 2:

Shauna hi it's Mojo in the morning

00:45:24 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 3:

Hi Mojo How's it going guys So I was dating this guy and every tuesday night he would have to go back to his apartment complex to take the trash out because he would take the trash out for like the whole apartment complex which was only like a dozen apartments but like to get a discount on his rent so i like thought this was totally legit every tuesday night he would leave my apartment go spend the night at his apartment and then i get the facebook message from the girl who's like i've been seeing your man every tuesday night oh my god i'm like oh what the hell i'm like look you're trash take the trash out

00:46:08 - 00:46:20 | Speaker 2:

isn't that interesting by the way that that that is exactly what he was leaving to do but you know what you don't think that they're going to make a story up like that oh my god really you're that

00:46:20 - 00:46:28 | Speaker 3:

that's for it yeah i i like to go to that extreme yeah but it's interesting to me though that in

00:46:28 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 2:

the entire time that he was doing this that you never said to him you know what don't stand the night there or let's spend the night together there you know one of those type of things like

00:46:35 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 3:

i did and we would like randomly if i pressed the issue then he would like come back or i would go

00:46:43 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 2:

with them but oh so do you think do you think that he would have to call her ahead of time and say I'm bringing my

00:46:49 - 00:46:52 | Speaker 3:

He texts her and be like, oh, don't come over

00:46:52 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, huh Thanks, guys Appreciate it Voices, guys, this next caller here We'll give you the alias, Lauren Hello Hi, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning We were talking about when they sneak out In the middle of the night to go cheat

00:47:10 - 00:47:35 | Speaker 1:

Yes, I was about 37 weeks pregnant And my boyfriend would get up and leave and i would call his phone in the middle of the night and he would not answer and two days before i was being induced um my dad had called me out of nowhere and was like hey i know where your boyfriend has been he's been hanging out with such and such girl and come

00:47:35 - 00:47:42 | Speaker 2:

to find out this girl is my dad's best friend's daughter oh my god did your dad oh gosh did your

00:47:42 - 00:47:59 | Speaker 1:

dad want to kill him oh absolutely I mean there's other stuff that led up to my dad wanting to kill him but I mean if there was a lot more going on at the time than I actually realized because I mean I have a three-year-old also and I'm just about to give birth to our second child how how

00:47:59 - 00:48:06 | Speaker 2:

did he meet your dad's best friend's daughter like how did that come about his sister was best

00:48:06 - 00:48:37 | Speaker 1:

friends with her so it's like a family thing over to his sister's house and every time like if i if i woke up in the middle of night he wasn't there i would go over to his sister's house and be like hey do you know where um he is and she always liked me she knew exactly where he was and on march 7th um our three-year-old had a doctor's appointment and i also had at the time a three week old and i actually ended up finding his car at this girl's house i walked into her house

00:48:37 - 00:48:54 | Speaker 2:

i went upstairs and i found the both of them wow look at she remembers the actual date yeah did it cause for did it cause for your family situations to kind of be strained like does this this woman or this you know your dad's best friend's daughter you know has it caused for your dad and his best

00:48:54 - 00:49:13 | Speaker 1:

friend to have issues uh no not not really i mean my dad just doesn't speak to her um we're actually still together we are working on our relationship we now have an eight-month-old and um almost four-year-old so he's not leaving in the middle of the night now is he

00:49:13 - 00:49:26 | Speaker 2:

no no yeah no more leaving i'm sorry you can't even go to the bathroom you go to the bathroom before you go to bed and you stay in bed alex hi hi your guy would actually say he was going to

00:49:26 - 00:49:50 | Speaker 4:

his mom's house in the middle of the night yeah he would um claim like even in the daytime too he would say he was going to his mom's house but he actually was meeting up with girls on some like dating app that no one it was like so secluded i didn't even know about so i found it on his phone and there was like 32 girls he was in a relationship with while he was dating me.

00:49:50 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 2:

Wow, how did you find out that he was actually going and doing this dating app and not going to his mom's?

00:49:56 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Because he went to the bathroom one day and he left his phone on the phone.

00:50:00 - 00:50:13 | Speaker 6:

lock and i saw on his phone so obviously i like clicked on it yeah and then once he like found out i knew he became like very aggressive and he was so mad how many other girls was he dating at

00:50:13 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 4:

the same time 32 32 oh my gosh you guys got a lot of time with his mom huh it's 32 times he's getting up and about man kathy hello what's going on kathy we were talking about this situation the War of the Roses, which if you just missed it, we busted a guy cheating on his wife. He would leave in the middle of the night to say that he was going to work to do some emergency stuff.

00:50:38 - 00:51:25 | Speaker 6:

What happened with your husband? It was the same issue. He was saying that he was going to work and I never thought anything of it. And he left early in the morning. He was, we would live like an hour away from work and he left at like four in the morning and um all of a sudden i noticed his paychecks were a little bit lower than what they should be because he was leaving on a weekend which he would make more money and um he wouldn't he just kept saying oh you know they must it must have been gone into my 401k or went into this or went into that and um i ended up finding out that that's what he was doing he was leaving early in the morning saying that he was going to work but

00:51:25 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 4:

he was actually meeting up with someone geez my god explain this to me why would he not be smart enough to realize that you would notice that he wasn't getting paid the overtime that he was

00:51:34 - 00:52:01 | Speaker 6:

supposed to be getting paid i have no idea i i really don't i mean he even actually i found out because he was like i'm so busy at work and blah blah blah and he would get he would say that he was getting phone calls from people from work and it was actually her that was calling him but he put the he put the um guy from work's name in his phone under with her number jeez man

00:52:01 - 00:52:06 | Speaker 4:

thanks for sharing that kathy i hope that this doesn't bring back too much uh stress in your

00:52:06 - 00:52:19 | Speaker 6:

life right now listening to this and hearing this oh no not at all thank you so much i appreciate you guys oh appreciate you danny yep what's up what's going on what's going on with you

00:52:19 - 00:52:47 | Speaker 5:

not much i just want to call in and give in the guy's perspective uh it actually happened to me my uh now ex-wife would leave around five in the morning on uh the weekend and uh leave me and my daughters you know asleep to go work out saying she was working out But I found out a couple months later that she was actually cheating on me and going to work out but to be with this other woman that she met too. Oh, my gosh.

00:52:47 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 3:

Another woman. Seems like the gym or working out is a big excuse because it gives people a regular appointment.

00:52:53 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 4:

Hey, question for you. How did you figure that out? Because at 5 in the morning on a Saturday, if my wife is leaving to go work out, I'm like, man, more power to you. But I'm staying in bed. I would have never been exploring, like, the reason, you know, that she would be cheating.

00:53:11 - 00:53:13 | Speaker 3:

Did you catch her in the act, or did you find messages or something?

00:53:14 - 00:53:26 | Speaker 5:

No, I actually got it out of her. I mean, she denied it and denied it for so long, and then once, you know, she put the divorce through, that's when she actually got it.

00:53:26 - 00:53:30 | Speaker 4:

So she was working out so much, was she not losing weight, and that's the reason why you were realizing it?

00:53:30 - 00:53:44 | Speaker 5:

No, she was actually losing weight. She was, you know, doing it before, you know, she ended up, you know, meeting this person. But I'd never had any suspicions, you know. And then all of a sudden, you know, she was just, she just became really distant.

00:53:45 - 00:53:46 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:53:46 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 1:

Is she with this woman now?

00:53:49 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 5:

No, she actually, this woman is actually cheated on her with somebody else, so.

00:53:53 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy. Male or female?

00:53:55 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I have no idea. Probably a female.

00:53:58 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Thanks, Danny. I appreciate your call, man. Sorry about that. Remember these songs. Kiss me.

00:54:05 - 00:54:06 | Unknown:

Kiss me.

00:54:06 - 00:54:10 | Speaker 3:

Something sexy. I'm a billionaire.

00:54:11 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 2:

See how well you're doing with Throwback Throwdown. It's tomorrow after 8. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:54:17 - 00:54:56 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning. I got to tell you guys a thing that happened to me yesterday, and I just want to go on record to say this, that I am not a homophobic man, okay? I have a gay son. I love him to death. As a matter of fact, I wish all three of my sons were gay. It would make Chelsea the happiest person ever. Yesterday, I ran into some old neighborhood guys from my old neighborhood that I used to live in. It was a really cool sub. Everybody was very incestuous. We all spent time with each other way too much, but it was so much fun.

00:54:56 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 1:

You loved that subdivision. Oh, it was the best. I always talk about it.

00:54:58 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 4:

It was absolutely, like Fridays.

00:55:00 - 00:55:58 | Speaker 3:

We used to give calls to everybody and say, whose house are we at tonight? And then we would do deck crawls to each other's houses. It's so fun. So I was at Jersey Mike's, and I was getting something to eat. And it was after being here at the radio station late doing that Lizzo interview. And a group of the guys just got done golfing. So they were there eating. And I walked in. I got to reminisce with these guys for a little bit. And then I got to sit down and have my sub there instead of bringing it home and just falling on the couch. And when I got up to leave and I said, hey, guys, I got to go. I got to go home and, you know, take a nap or something, you know. One of the guys said, man, Tom, it was great to see you. And smacked my ass as I'm walking out of the Jersey Mike's. Now, I didn't turn around and do anything. I just continued to keep on walking as if it was a normal occurrence. I got into my car and I thought, was that weird that he just like ass smacked me? He ass slapped me. Kind of like, hey, good boy

00:55:58 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 5:

You know, I don't believe That you didn't do anything Because I know you And I know you probably went

00:56:05 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

I was, I guess I didn't necessarily I didn't necessarily Did you?

00:56:18 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 4:

Or you just didn't I might have, honestly

00:56:20 - 00:56:22 | Speaker 3:

I might have, but I didn't record myself

00:56:22 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 4:

Because that's involuntary for you

00:56:24 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 3:

Now, I see sometimes where that might be okay while you're playing sports but after eating a chicken philly cheesesteak at jersey i don't know if an ass slapping is something that you want to do i don't know and i wanted to just like throw this out there um what is the deal with guys wanting to smack

00:56:42 - 00:57:02 | Speaker 1:

asses like guys i don't get that i didn't get it either i don't get it and even in the locker room or out of the locker room i found the guys that were doing it to me were the ones that were also throwing out little side comments and being like homophobic jokes and and stupid stuff like that and i'm like you know for a guy that seems to always have a punch line about uh gay people

00:57:02 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 3:

you sure do like to touch ass a lot it's it's really kind of intrigue interesting like i i will tell you that i don't think i've ever maybe i have i don't know maybe my kids or something

00:57:13 - 00:57:20 | Speaker 4:

like that do girls do that the girls but uh well i feel like for girls it's more just like a little boob grab. Or maybe

00:57:20 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 5:

that's just me. I did work at your party recently by pinching her on the butt.

00:57:24 - 00:57:26 | Speaker 3:

Wait, who pinched on the butt?

00:57:26 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 5:

I pinched Megan on the butt. My good friends, if I walk up to you and you're like, you're back to me, I'll

00:57:32 - 00:57:35 | Speaker 3:

pinch your butt. Megan, how did that make you feel? I went, ooh.

00:57:37 - 00:57:40 | Speaker 5:

I will say, Ellen does pinch my butt a lot

00:57:40 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 4:

and she didn't grab my boobs. I either grab her boobs or I stick my two fingers down her cleavage.

00:57:46 - 00:57:53 | Speaker 2:

I'll just be sitting there

00:57:53 - 00:57:54 | Speaker 5:

and all of a sudden I just feel

00:57:54 - 00:57:58 | Speaker 1:

I have never thought to slap my buddy's ass

00:57:58 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 3:

you have cut my balls a couple of times

00:58:01 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 1:

thank you for doing that

00:58:05 - 00:58:16 | Speaker 4:

I have a guy friend who does the credit card swipe to me you talked about that if I'm in front of him going up the stairs or something he just takes his hand and goes right up my butt crack

00:58:16 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 2:

I don't do it as a grown adult But I've done the butt smacking before

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 1:

You have? In what context?

00:58:25 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 2:

I was sports or I guess maybe I don't know I guess just hanging out with a buddy's It was always sports I guess Now that I think about it So it should have been No like playing sports So if you guys

00:58:38 - 00:58:58 | Speaker 3:

I was in the closet Good job So if you're playing sports then It's better than, like, for instance, if we on the show, like, somebody has, like, a really good punchline to a bit, should we afterwards be like, hey, nice job, boop, boop, boop, you know? Kind of give them a tap on the tushy.

00:58:58 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 5:

Like, I'm not afraid of. I'm not afraid of. You can do that to me even if we're on a softball team together.

00:59:01 - 00:59:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I'm not afraid of contact. I'm a hugger. I love to hug people. I'm okay with a high five. I just don't understand why people grab ass all the time. Yeah.

00:59:10 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 5:

Is it weird that I'd prefer the grab ass and the hug? Really? Yeah.

00:59:15 - 00:59:25 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, so you would rather have the little tushy pinch that Ellen does compared to somebody coming up and giving you a big old squeeze.

00:59:26 - 00:59:26 | Speaker 5:

100%.

00:59:26 - 00:59:28 | Speaker 3:

I know you are not a hugging type person.

00:59:28 - 00:59:29 | Speaker 5:

I don't like it.

00:59:30 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 1:

I'd probably rather have an ass slap than a handshake. I hate shaking hands. It's the worst thing. I really thought it was going to go away with COVID, and I was really excited that we didn't grab clammy, sweaty hands anymore, and then all of a sudden it's back with a vengeance.

00:59:43 - 00:59:47 | Speaker 4:

I'd rather have people smack my butt than do the fist bump that people are still doing.

00:59:47 - 00:59:53 | Speaker 3:

I agree with you on that. I think when the fist bump comes up, I want to punch the person in the nose.

00:59:53 - 00:59:54 | Speaker 1:

Or the elbow.

00:59:54 - 00:59:57 | Speaker 3:

I'm like, oh my God, the elbow is the worst.

00:59:57 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 1:

Somebody did the elbow to me yesterday. We were out at Topgolf.

01:00:00 - 01:00:02 | Speaker 3:

And I'm like, really? You're putting out the elbow again?

01:00:02 - 01:00:26 | Speaker 4:

Don't you watch Hard Knocks and see Dan Campbell doing it? And you're like, man, that hypes me up. Dan Campbell could do anything and look cool. You know? He doesn't count. But you'll never see Dan Campbell do the elbow thing. You know what I mean? Oh, no, no, no. Like, it will never happen. I don't know. He's just too cool of a guy, the head football coach for the Detroit Lions.

01:00:26 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 3:

But bad news, we're not Dan Campbell.

01:00:28 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 4:

I know. Hunter, what's happening?

01:00:31 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Mojo.

01:00:32 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 4:

How are you?

01:00:33 - 01:00:36 | Speaker 1:

The only way... Oh, I'm good. How are you?

01:00:36 - 01:00:39 | Speaker 4:

Good. I'm sorry. I derailed you for a second. The only way what?

01:00:40 - 01:00:44 | Speaker 1:

The only way you can slap somebody's ass is if you yell good game afterwards.

01:00:47 - 01:01:03 | Speaker 4:

So while I was walking out of Jersey Mike's, they should have yelled good game and sent me on my way? You know what? I actually agree with that. Try it after sex Have you ever Had the ass slap after sex

01:01:03 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 1:

You know that's actually how it came up

01:01:06 - 01:01:09 | Speaker 4:

Explain please

01:01:09 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 1:

It was a surprise Like my My fiance now We were pretty drunk at the time And so We were We finished and he slapped my ass And I look at him and he's like Good game And I'm like, I didn't know what to say after that. I was just laughing my butt off.

01:01:32 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 4:

That's classic. Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

01:01:35 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 1:

No problem. Have a good day.

01:01:36 - 01:01:59 | Speaker 4:

All right. Take care of yourself. A couple of other things I want to get to. Oh, okay. Another thing. Spike brought this up in the studio during a song. Spike, yesterday you were at Topgolf, and you experienced something that you were also surprised about. It's kind of sports-related, relates to the ass smacking and stuff like that.

01:01:59 - 01:02:34 | Speaker 3:

It does, it goes along with these guy rules that obviously I'm not man enough to understand. He was telling me I couldn't use, like, so I use left-handed. Who's he? The guy that was out golfing with us at Topgolf. Okay. And he said, you know, I use left-handed clubs. So I asked him, I said, can I borrow your clubs? And he's like, F, no, you can't do it. And I said, what? And he's like, golf clubs are the one thing a man should never share. He didn't want anyone touching his grips. I'm like, what? Is that a thing? Like, they have house clubs. I had to use the clubs at Topgolf.

01:02:34 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 4:

Wait, so this guy actually brought his own golf clubs to Topgolf.

01:02:38 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so, like, most of us are going for fun and a drink and don't care, you know, what happens at Topgolf. I think that's how most people go. It's a socializing place. No, Brad was serious about he was going to – he's there for the score. He brought his own clubs out of his car and everything.

01:02:54 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 4:

Which I never have understood how to score, like, how that actually fits with golf. Because you're shooting for, like, these targets and stuff like that.

01:03:02 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 3:

And the thing is, Topgolf is not golf. Like, I sometimes beat my girlfriend. She golfs regularly. I never, ever, ever golf. Right. So if I'm good at Topgolf, that means it's not real golf. Right. You know? Yeah. And so you can't take that seriously. You're just there to drink and talk to friends.

01:03:19 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

But the people who are so territorial about something like a golf club, I don't know.

01:03:24 - 01:03:39 | Speaker 4:

I will ask this question, though, because for those that aren't golfers, bowlers, do bowlers get particular about that? Like, if you're a person that brings your own bowling ball to, you know, go bowling with friends, do you want somebody else sticking their fingers in your hole?

01:03:39 - 01:03:42 | Speaker 3:

You know what I mean?

01:03:42 - 01:03:47 | Speaker 4:

Like, I never thought about the golf thing because I wear a glove when I golf, but I don't wear a glove on both hands.

01:03:47 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 2:

I could get it if you were really serious about golfing on a golf course. But like you said, this is Topgolf.

01:03:53 - 01:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Who cares? But I've golfed with guys where I didn't have my clubs. And they'll say, hey, we'll share clubs. Sure. The problem is it just makes you play slower because you may need the 7-iron.

01:04:05 - 01:04:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm just saying I'm more understanding of that. Like I get that versus a situation like a Topgolf where you're just there to have a good time.

01:04:11 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 3:

Or you just mentioned golf golf.

01:04:12 - 01:04:15 | Speaker 2:

Nobody's – I mean if you're that competitive at Topgolf, it's –

01:04:15 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're not in the right party for that. But you just mentioned golf glove. I would feel weirder sharing a glove because that's like sweaty in there. No, I would never use a golf glove.

01:04:23 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 4:

No, I say I wear a glove. Oh, OK. So I'm not really necessarily touching the guy's club with my hand. It's so stupid.

01:04:30 - 01:04:43 | Speaker 3:

Like bowling ball, you make sense in putting your whole finger in the hole, I guess. Like we've talked in the show about not sharing a bathing suit or something like that. Like, listen, I'll never share a toothbrush or I don't share flip flops. That's gross to me.

01:04:43 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 4:

All right. We need to talk to the territorial people. Where are those territorial people that won't let you share things that should be shareable?

01:04:50 - 01:04:54 | Speaker 3:

He said it like it was a common thing. Like, I should know you don't share golf clubs.

01:04:54 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

David, what's something that you cannot share? A writing utensil. Pens, pencils.

01:05:00 - 01:05:02 | Speaker 3:

interesting because

01:05:02 - 01:05:04 | Speaker 4:

Sharpies is a big one

01:05:04 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 2:

Spike doesn't like people to touch his or his chair

01:05:07 - 01:05:33 | Speaker 3:

I have corrected you on this a million times everybody always says oh you're germphobic you don't let people touch your pen no you can use my pen all you want you can't walk out of the room with my pen I want a pen sitting here in front of me and then people borrow it and they leave with it and then I have no pen and I'm like well I brought the pen here to write with and now I don't have a pen and everybody's like oh he's germphobic No, I'm buy your own pen and carry your own pen around.

01:05:33 - 01:05:47 | Speaker 2:

David's thinking over you there. Thank you. Hey, Chris. Yeah. What can you not share? Shoes. Ooh. Yeah. Women do this, though, don't they? Don't women share shoes? All the time. But it's not good for your feet.

01:05:48 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 1:

It's so gross. Everybody's feet sweat. Everybody. That's why I say.

01:05:52 - 01:05:59 | Speaker 4:

I buy used shoes. Like, I love Poshmark, and so I'll buy used shoes sometimes. And, Mojo, you always are so like, ugh, that's so disgusting when I talk about that.

01:05:59 - 01:06:03 | Speaker 2:

But you know what's funny? Podiatrists say it's really bad for your feet. They say that that's a bad thing.

01:06:04 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 3:

You don't know if somebody's got athlete's foot or something. I would never let someone wear my shoes. And I said flip-flops earlier, and someone thought that was weird. Like, they're aired out. You're outside. I'm like, no, it's bare feet on.

01:06:14 - 01:06:17 | Speaker 2:

Everybody uses my flip-flops in my family as the dog pooping.

01:06:18 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, they're the closest out by the door, right?

01:06:20 - 01:06:20 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Nick?

01:06:22 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. How's it going?

01:06:23 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 2:

Nick has one. Good, man. Nick has one that we all will probably agree with. What is it you cannot share?

01:06:28 - 01:06:48 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I catch my girlfriend doing it all the time. She uses my deodorant, and I would think that she would have a problem with using it because, I mean, I work construction. I'm sweaty. I'm constantly putting it on, and it seems like she prefers mine over hers when she has, like, a fresh stick. I don't understand it. I love her to death, but.

01:06:48 - 01:06:51 | Speaker 4:

I'll share deodorant. I don't care about that.

01:06:51 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 2:

What about with, like, a person that's not a lover of yours or your kids? What if somebody at the gym said, can I use your deodorant?

01:07:01 - 01:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, if it's a stranger, I'm not letting them use my deodorants. But if I know you? Yeah, if I know you, I don't care either.

01:07:07 - 01:07:14 | Speaker 3:

Even my daughter used my deodorant. I was kind of like, oh, you can take it with you. It's yours now. I don't know why.

01:07:14 - 01:07:18 | Speaker 2:

Kirsten? Good morning. Hi, what is it you cannot share?

01:07:19 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 5:

I cannot share my lighter, but I will share my chapstick. Oh, wow, that's weird. The very opposite. Yeah. Now, why the lighter? Explain that to me. Because someone's going to walk out of the room and take it, and I'm never going to find it again. Oh, okay. There it is. Just like my pen. For some reason, it's like if I see one of my friends, one of my good girlfriends, and I'm like, you have chappy lips, like you need this chapstick. Yes.

01:07:39 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 4:

All the time.

01:07:40 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:07:41 - 01:07:43 | Speaker 2:

Samantha, what can you not share?

01:07:43 - 01:07:52 | Speaker 6:

So, my brother-in-law had a neighbor come to the door and ask to borrow a plunger, and he was like, no, that's not a shareable item. I'm sorry.

01:07:52 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 2:

You don't want your neighbor's poopy on the plunger? That is kind of weird.

01:07:56 - 01:08:06 | Speaker 6:

I've never thought about that. I felt bad to the neighbor. Like, yeah, she's got a problem. She doesn't have a plunger. But at the same time, I kind of agree with her. I don't think I would want.

01:08:07 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 4:

I think I wouldn't ask my neighbor to borrow a plunger just because I don't want them to know I have big poops.

01:08:13 - 01:08:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, we know, Shannon. We know.

01:08:16 - 01:08:40 | Speaker 2:

Man, I miss complaining about the heat. Shut up. This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, we're going to do a phone scam here on the Mojo in the Morning show. We are going to call a pet store to see if they sell food for a new animal in our house. Spike now has a pet penguin that he stole from the zoo. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:08:40 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song.

01:08:47 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 2:

It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

01:08:52 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for calling us, Pat. Hello? Hello? Hi, it's Alice. Hi. What time do you open?

01:08:59 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 7:

We're open from 10 to 6.

01:09:01 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay, and what do you feed a penguin? A penguin? Yes, I need to purchase some food for aquatic birds. Can you put some aside for me?

01:09:12 - 01:09:18 | Speaker 7:

I don't think... I think I'll have to order you something for aquatic birds. I don't carry anything.

01:09:18 - 01:09:27 | Speaker 3:

Oh, dear. Okay. My son stole—he took a penguin from the zoo as a prank, and I'm going to take it back to them, but they're closed today, so—

01:09:27 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

01:09:28 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 3:

I open his backpack, and his little head pops out. He's got a friend.

01:09:33 - 01:09:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

01:09:34 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I'm just trying to find a place that has food. You know what I'm saying?

01:09:37 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Have you been online to see—there may be something you can get at the grocery store.

01:09:42 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

I Googled her, you know, the penguin, because it was difficult to get the thing on its back so we could check to see if it was a boy or a girl penguin, but it's a girl. Cute little bugger. I Googled her, and she's a juvenile, black-footed penguin. Beautiful creature. So I look it up, and it said...

01:10:00 - 01:10:03 | Speaker 1:

You know, obviously, they have a special diet and everything.

01:10:04 - 01:10:07 | Speaker 3:

I have no idea where you would buy food for something like that.

01:10:07 - 01:10:27 | Speaker 1:

I know. He's not right in the head, my Dylan. Oh, my gosh. Oh, you should see me going crazy. I mean, I could use a little help. There's a flightless bird in my living room. Oh, my gosh. Bless your heart. Yes, we named her Sydney. Oh. So what I did is I filled the bathtub with ice water and make her feel at home, and then I'm just trying to find some food.

01:10:28 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. I wonder if there's a number you could call at the zoo. I'll bet somebody would meet you.

01:10:34 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I see, like an emergency number.

01:10:36 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:10:37 - 01:10:44 | Speaker 1:

Because I tried emailing, and the thing doesn't, you know, it's about tickets, it's about this and that and everything except the penguins.

01:10:44 - 01:10:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, well, they've got to have some kind of emergency number. Right?

01:10:48 - 01:10:59 | Speaker 1:

I know. It's the weirdest thing when you think about it. You know, one day, Sidney's wilding around Antarctica. Next thing you know, a year or two later, she's in the basement in the suburbs getting taught how to play Call of Duty by my Dylan.

01:10:59 - 01:11:05 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh. I would try calling the zoo and call 911.

01:11:05 - 01:11:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, 911?

01:11:07 - 01:11:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they need to get it back.

01:11:09 - 01:11:40 | Speaker 1:

You'll feel horrible. Oh, God, no. She's pulling down the curtains. Look at her. Dylan, get her away from the cat. This is crazy. Oh, bless your heart. I did not sign up for this. Oh, I gotta go She's eating the remote For the love of Samuel L. Jackson Dylan, listen, can you call someone for me? Okay Can you call the Mojo in the Morning Show Because this is Spike and you've just been the victim of a phone scam No time for me

01:11:40 - 01:12:01 | Speaker 4:

There's your bless your heart Exactly We will, we will scam you yep go ahead and laugh you might be next it's the home of the world famous phone scams mojo in the morning what's up

01:12:01 - 01:12:02 | Unknown:

what's up

01:12:02 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 3:

make some noise for mojo fight shannon for mojo in the morning

01:12:19 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 4:

mojo in the morning show so i was on the phone with megan and her dad was in the car with her at the same time and getting a chance to uh to talk to scott mick and this guy's living his best life right now he's just moved into his like bachelor pad apartment in beautiful downtown toledo and he is like so excited about this thing i think your dad is living the life of remember when you first got your own place and you'd go and you're like man this is my first apartment this is my first place your dad's got that like kind of like i don't know um in a an adult version of that or a really adult version of that going on right now don't say really adult because that that sounds too much and your dad's like i'm like i'm not calling him old but let me just say this to you as a as a guy as a guy who you know for myself who is you know 52 years old i would love to go back and live in an apartment right now just so i can like get rid of all the crap that i have and your dad did this, right? He got rid of everything?

01:13:46 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

Almost, almost everything. He's keeping some very weird things and I need you guys to tell me if this is kind of crossing the line or not because we've pretty much emptied out his entire house, right? We're getting down to the line here, like a couple of things and he has this front hall closet that had some family mementos. I don't know if you guys have ever seen on my Instagram, like i tried to frame as much artwork and mismatched art frames as possible so when my dad was taking down everything in his house that he didn't want he kind of saved all the frames for me so i could keep going with that because he is nice i hate saying that but my dad's nice sometimes but here's where he's not no so nice is because he set aside all of the photos that he was going to keep to hang up in his apartment which is great except um for a collage of christmas photos from about eight years ago that mostly features him and my ex oh really yeah and I said we're not keeping that are we and he goes yeah what's the big deal I was gonna hang it up in my apartment I said because he and I broke up eight years ago this is awkward so I have to

01:15:00 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 5:

walk into your apartment and see my ex from eight years ago i actually i think there's more photos of my ex that are going to be hanging up in his house than me and he was like i don't see what the big deal is i like the kid i don't see what the big deal is i don't have any problems with him and i said excuse me you are my father you are team me it doesn't matter if he's the best guy in the world or the worst you're team me you're forcibly team me aren't you supposed to

01:15:24 - 01:15:43 | Speaker 3:

like when you unless maybe you have a child with or a grandchild with them as a parent aren't you supposed to get rid of the ex's photos like you're not supposed to have ex's photos because i learned this when my son broke up with his girlfriend i i was like you know still a little too attached to

01:15:43 - 01:16:09 | Speaker 2:

the ex-girlfriend well i took my girlfriend home to my parents in philadelphia the home that i grew up in and my parents still keep all the marriage photos up all the wedding day photos up and not only do they have me and my ex up on the wall and we split over two years ago but also they have my brother and his ex who haven't been married in jeez 20 years maybe so they're displayed

01:16:09 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 3:

with all three of you you boys with your girl yes yeah all four children and so your one brother is

01:16:15 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 2:

still married right yes my brother's still married and my and my uh sister's married and so that's

01:16:21 - 01:16:30 | Speaker 3:

kind of wild like so there's no even grandkids in the pictures no it's just the wedding photos did you guys talk about that at all like have you and your brother my brother and i talked about it

01:16:30 - 01:17:02 | Speaker 2:

because we were joking he's i think he's mentioned it to them before and joked about to them before and i i braced my girlfriend for that so listen we walk in the room and there's gonna be this big display in the living room and just know that my brother has been dealing with trying to take his photo down for 20 years. I can't decide if it's because my parents are so strict Catholic that they don't believe in divorce or that it's the aesthetic of this perfect diamond display on the wall. And I tend to think it's the latter.

01:17:03 - 01:17:04 | Speaker 1:

Why don't you guys see the photo?

01:17:05 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 2:

Right. Well, no, why don't they never, but they couldn't like, like my, my brother's been in a few relationships since then but he wasn't married again so it would ruin my mom's display of the four wedding so i really think it is just my mom likes this display because my mom and dad's wedding photos in the center and then the four wedding photos are now i get it so i don't think it says anything about the people in the photos it's just my mom loves her idea of how does it make you feel that they have that up still well i don't care i mean you know and and i know they're still friendly with my ex so I'm not you know I don't care but if I got remarried and they kept it up then I would be like well now it's gonna come down in Megan's case

01:17:44 - 01:17:45 | Speaker 1:

I was gonna say

01:17:45 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 5:

I'm glad you don't care

01:17:46 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 1:

I care and this is a boyfriend from eight years ago too that yeah

01:17:50 - 01:18:01 | Speaker 5:

give him some new photos to put in there my dad was just like well it's a collage it's not like I can take it out I said you stick her over it you got a marker and you cross him out you got a knife and you scratch him out

01:18:01 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 1:

this is so funny I took Wes to my mom's house on gross yield for the first time a couple of weeks ago after my high school reunion and I like kind of thought that my mom had taken down my wedding photos and she just has them like displayed on a table and she hadn't and they're still on there and I could see his eye like wander over there and I was like what did he do oh my he didn't he still hasn't said anything about it but I know he saw them and you just reminded me I need to tell my mom like she doesn't have to like she could keep one up because it is lucy and smith's dad and i understand that but there's like our engagement photo our wedding photo like right there you will just have to give her another photo to replace

01:18:42 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 5:

that with i know i know you and wes maybe yeah even a family photo i feel like would be better than a wedding photo right lisa what's up it's mojo in the morning hi how are you guys good

01:18:53 - 01:18:58 | Speaker 3:

what's going on what do you think about megan's dad keeping the photos of her ex-boyfriend from How many years ago, Megan?

01:18:59 - 01:19:01 | Speaker 4:

Like eight years ago. It might be nine.

01:19:01 - 01:19:02 | Speaker 3:

What do you think about that?

01:19:02 - 01:19:38 | Speaker 4:

So I am team Megan, but Megan would love my grandmother. She is the queen of petty, and she is always on her children's side. So when her three daughters all got divorced, instead of taking photos down, she black marker sharpied them out of the photos. Oh, that's horrible. There you go. There you go. It's a family staple And we have to show everybody That this is what's going to happen to you If you mess with us Mess up You're staying in the picture I love that

01:19:38 - 01:19:41 | Speaker 3:

Dan what's up it's Mojo in the morning

01:19:41 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 4:

Hey good morning guys Awesome show love listening to you guys

01:19:46 - 01:19:47 | Speaker 3:

Thank you buddy

01:19:47 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 4:

My wife's mom Would take a bandaid And put it over the face of the person because we're going to help you heal Maybe, is that better than the Sharpie or not better than the Sharpie?

01:20:03 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's happening? Mojo in the morning. Hi, Allie.

01:20:07 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 6:

Hey, good morning, guys. I was going to say that my grandma every single year accidentally posts this picture as her profile picture of me and my ex from four years ago as Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy for Halloween. Never fails. Also, Megan, your dad is the cutest thing ever. I saw the post the other day, and I was like, oh, my God, what a draft.

01:20:28 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 8:

Stay away from my dad.

01:20:30 - 01:20:36 | Speaker 6:

I'm on the way to Toledo, though. I'm actually coming from Detroit to Toledo right now, so. Oh, cool. You watch it. Thank you. You watch yourself.

01:20:37 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning. What's up, Amanda?

01:20:41 - 01:20:58 | Speaker 4:

So, I think you guys need to, all of you, need to make an appointment. Tell them to be there because it's very important. They need to wear dry clothes and tell them, you know, color scheme, whatever you got in mind, and make an appointment to have new photos taken. They can't help but put them up.

01:20:58 - 01:21:16 | Speaker 1:

that's actually interesting i mean in the case in the case of like shannon's parent shannon's mom spike's parents and stuff like that maybe maybe even megan maybe megan needs to take that frame down and put some new photos in there and all you guys do it glamour shots me yeah right okay so do

01:21:16 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 8:

any of your parents have like a huge aversion to photos because nothing makes me laugh more and i know my dad's listening right now i'm so sorry i'm about to roast you but every once in a while I'll open up his LinkedIn profile. I was like, sir, when was that photo taken?

01:21:30 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. Is it really old?

01:21:33 - 01:21:40 | Speaker 8:

I wouldn't say it's really old, but I was just like, sir, we need to get rid of the glamour shot, you know? Oh, my God.

01:21:40 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 1:

For me, it's skinny photos. Anything that's a skinny photo, you got to keep it as your profile, right?

01:21:44 - 01:21:47 | Speaker 8:

Oh, I get that. I get that, but my dad looks great now. I know.

01:21:47 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 1:

He definitely needs new photos.

01:21:49 - 01:22:03 | Speaker 8:

I know, but every time you try to take a photo of him, he pulls a stupid face like a nine-year-old boy. I have no good photos of my dad. And do you know what I started doing? This is awful. I started doing, what am I going to hang up at your funeral, dad? What am I going to hang up? Just to try to guilt him into it, and he doesn't care.

01:22:04 - 01:22:05 | Speaker 1:

Belle, what's happening?

01:22:06 - 01:22:18 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I was just going to say that my mom still has a picture on her laptop background of me and my ex-boyfriend and sister from 2014. And I am now happily engaged. But it's still for that. Oh, yeah.

01:22:18 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 1:

Did your fiance ever say anything about it, or does he not care?

01:22:22 - 01:22:24 | Speaker 7:

He just laughed about it. He doesn't care.

01:22:24 - 01:22:28 | Speaker 2:

Is it because she doesn't know how to change her background, or she just really likes herself in that photo?

01:22:29 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 7:

I tried to tell her I'll change it, and she's like, ah, whatever.

01:22:34 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 1:

Listen to this one. Michelle? Yes. You have this with your boyfriend's family, right? And what's going on?

01:22:45 - 01:23:05 | Speaker 5:

I'm the one who does all the collages and everything. Like, I've made them photo collages. I've made a family photo collages. I will not put pictures of myself in there. Really? Yeah, his mom always says, you're part of the family. If him and I were to break up, I want them to still have the pictures of them.

01:23:05 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 1:

So you don't want to be in the pictures until you know for a fact that you guys are going to be together. But what if you guys stay together, get married, but eventually one day there's a possibility you guys could split up?

01:23:17 - 01:23:23 | Speaker 5:

well then they have the option of taking the photos out of the collage and replace them with

01:23:23 - 01:24:05 | Speaker 1:

someone else why don't we do this why doesn't everybody just learn photoshop or stand like a little bit apart have you guys ever taken a photo with somebody who legit would not get close to you in the photo because you knew that they were going to photoshop you out of the photo i had that happen to me like a week and a half ago swear to you had it happened to me a week and a half ago I won't say who it is because it will offend them because I made a comment to Chelsea about it. And she says, don't bring it up on the air if you're going to mention their name. But they took the photo. And this is no joke. You see Chelsea and I and them. And they stayed away from us in the photo. Really? Yes.

01:24:05 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 8:

That would offend me so much.

01:24:08 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's right.

01:24:12 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 8:

I'm here for it.

01:24:13 - 01:24:22 | Speaker 1:

Although, if Megan's dad were to have done that with Megan's boyfriend's picture, it would just be the boyfriend in the photo and no Megan in the photo.

01:24:22 - 01:24:24 | Speaker 8:

Oh, 100%.

01:24:24 - 01:24:27 | Speaker 2:

Megan, lover of everybody.

01:24:28 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 8:

I hate men.

01:24:28 - 01:24:31 | Speaker 2:

She loves all people, all shapes and sizes.

01:24:31 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 8:

That's the biggest thing right now is that I am just the biggest man hater in the world.

01:24:35 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 2:

How's her day? Just ask her. She'll tell you.

01:24:37 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 8:

There is a pube on the toilet seat.

01:24:41 - 01:24:42 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:24:42 - 01:24:44 | Speaker 8:

I mean, men are disgusting.

01:24:44 - 01:24:47 | Speaker 2:

Megan Mick, a.k.a. Miss Sunshine, from Mojo in the Morning.

01:24:48 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

All right, Mojo in the Morning show. So you gave a recommendation of something. I want to take it back. That is now kind of biting me in the butt.

01:25:00 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, where's, like, that sucking noise where you suck something back, you put it out there, you suck it back in? That's what I thought of in my head yesterday. That's what I wish I could do with this recommendation. So my ex-husband, Andrew, his mom, suffered an injury recently. And I won't get into what it is, just obviously out of respect and privacy for her. But she's having to lay low to heal from this thing. And she is a phenomenal golfer. Mojo, you know this. Like, she plays golf every single day. And so she is bored to tears right now because she can't play golf. She has to, you know, rest and heal. So she stopped over the other day to drop off the kids. We were switching the kids. And I mentioned to her, I said, oh, man, you know, it's got to be so hard that you're not out there playing golf. And I said, you need to grab a stack of books and just get cozy and read. You know, she's been like laying in her husband's recliner. And she's like, oh, that sounds so nice. I need some recommendations. so I proceeded to recommend the author of all of the books that I have been addicted to reading lately and if you follow me on Instagram you know I'm obsessed with Colleen Hoover right now she's like really hot at the moment she's got all of these books on the bestseller list her books are

01:26:17 - 01:26:22 | Speaker 1:

so so so so so good I see the name come up a lot of girls on Instagram reading it by the beach yeah

01:26:22 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 2:

so Andrew's mom's like oh that's that's so nice of you thank you she's like I'm gonna go out and buy some so she leaves and i'm thinking about it later and i start panicking because colleen hoover books are real spicy i'm talking like 50 shades of gray sex scenes in these books ellen knows

01:26:41 - 01:26:51 | Speaker 4:

because ellen has read some of them they're like really they're they're they're hot they're they're Um, spicy. Spicy. But like, yeah.

01:26:51 - 01:26:53 | Speaker 1:

Mother, ex-mother-in-law spicy.

01:26:53 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 2:

That's something that you would recommend to your ex-mother-in-law. And I'm like, oh my God. I wish I could take it back because I just encouraged my ex-mother-in-law to read sex novels, essentially.

01:27:04 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 4:

So awkward.

01:27:07 - 01:27:13 | Speaker 2:

I'm hoping that she forgot the name and she texts me and says, what was the name of that author again? And I'm just going to give her another name.

01:27:13 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 1:

And you're going to say. That's safe. You're going to say the Bible.

01:27:16 - 01:27:16 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:27:17 - 01:27:17 | Speaker 1:

Right, right.

01:27:18 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:27:19 - 01:27:26 | Speaker 1:

You know what? Let me tell you something. She's not an older woman. I mean, she's not old. No.

01:27:26 - 01:27:32 | Speaker 2:

No, it's just more so like, oh, like, Shannon. Shannon's reading this stuff.

01:27:34 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 1:

That's more what it is.

01:27:36 - 01:27:38 | Speaker 2:

Like, I don't want to be judged, but they're so good. Oh, my God.

01:27:38 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 1:

Wait, if she listens to this show ever and hears some of the stuff we talk about.

01:27:43 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 2:

She doesn't listen to the show. Oh, she doesn't?

01:27:45 - 01:27:45 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

01:27:45 - 01:27:49 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so

01:27:49 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 1:

It would be a good read That would be a good read That's the worst My analogy that I would have with that one is You ever tell somebody to watch a TV show Or watch a movie And the movie or the TV shows are filled With sex scenes Like it's crazy I remember telling somebody to watch Ray Donovan And it was actually a friend of our family's And it was like one of my dad's best buddies I'm like dude you gotta watch Ray I didn't just call him dude As Mr. Preston You gotta watch Ray Donovan You would like it because he was a former cop And I said this guy is really good It's a good investigative type thing He calls me up after the second episode and said Does this guy just bang everybody? I said yes Or do you ever have that Do you ever have like a recommendation From somebody else and you don't know What the movie contents are And you go and rent the movie Or you know get it on your on demand or on netflix or whatever and you start watching them you start watching it with your whole family including your children and you're like what the hell are they doing that's this i'm

01:28:55 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

still cringing about it like please please do not go buy these books please i was shocked when you

01:29:03 - 01:29:45 | Speaker 1:

talked to 50 shades of gray but i was shocked when 50 shades of gray came out everybody knew because the buzz on every single, you know, late night show, Good Morning America, Today Show, Morning Show, our shows, everybody was talking about how it was very sexual. I couldn't believe that they had, do you know that movie theaters got more complaints about that movie because there were the senior citizens that go in the middle of the day and they do the matinees? So many senior citizens were like, let's go see a movie, honey. There's this movie. They just heard the name and know it's popular. They don't do any research. They thought it was about them. Fifty Shades of Grey not knowing what was going on. What's up, Kelly? How you doing?

01:29:46 - 01:29:48 | Speaker 3:

Hey, guys. Good morning.

01:29:48 - 01:29:57 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. What's up? So I am giving my mom four of my colleagues over books next week to read on vacation, and I did not think this through. Yes!

01:29:58 - 01:29:59 | Unknown:

Right?

01:29:59 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 4:

Like, yeah.

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 1:

You know, I mean, they're good. Like, they're good.

01:30:05 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm giving them to her because I hate reading, but I fly through those. Yeah. And I didn't think through what the story's actually about. So I might have to find four in the book.

01:30:18 - 01:30:23 | Speaker 5:

You know what? It's good for mom. It keeps her heart beating at a normal ratio, right?

01:30:24 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 2:

I don't want to think about it.

01:30:26 - 01:30:29 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Jordan, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:30:30 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 3:

Hi, so back in college I read Fifty Shades of Grey And my grandma asked to borrow them

01:30:36 - 01:30:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh boy What did grandma think? What did you tell her? Did you tell her you lost them?

01:30:41 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, well I gave them to her She's had a bunch of her friends And she had saw me reading them at their pool And I was like, sure, when I'm done You can read them, and she did

01:30:50 - 01:30:56 | Speaker 5:

You know what? It's probably good for grandma to have that Did she enjoy it in her life?

01:30:56 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh, oh, oh Yeah, she loved it And one of her friends wanted to borrow it, but then ended up, you know, going and buying her own copy. But I was like, great. You're going to pass it around the rent.

01:31:07 - 01:31:14 | Speaker 5:

Can I tell you something interesting about books? And I don't read books, Jordan. I don't know if you know this, but I do Audible a lot. I just, you know.

01:31:14 - 01:31:17 | Speaker 4:

Last book Mojo read was the Cheesecake Factory menu.

01:31:17 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 5:

That's pretty much, yes. Well, did you know that there was a friend of mine who was telling me a story about how when they read books, they always will write notes in it. They always highlight and write and stuff like that.

01:31:28 - 01:31:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:31:28 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 5:

And I joked around and I said to them, because it's a female, I said, yeah, I'd like to see you do that with Fifty Shades of Grey. She said, yeah, she did it with Fifty Shades of Grey. Because what happens is she reads the books, and then what she does is she writes notes from where she picked up so she can remember, so she doesn't have to go back and read it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's actually a good idea. I said, would that not be the funniest thing ever if you didn't know that that's the reason why she's writing the notes in the count?

01:31:54 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 4:

As long as it's not like you're highlighting passages and writing, try this in the column.

01:32:00 - 01:32:19 | Speaker 5:

Better to love and lose or stay with a cheater the rest of your life. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens at 9.05 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning. I don't think girls really care about this, but maybe they do. But Mike's got a friend that's faking being rich. Right, Mike, to get girls?

01:32:20 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 4:

Well, I guess. I guess. I don't know what, I don't see the move here either, but he thinks it works. So I've been going to the gym with my wife every week, like two days out of the week we'll go. And it's like a little day date thing, but she couldn't make it last week. So I went with, I met a buddy up there and it's like one of my very few single buddies. And we're on the treadmill and I noticed he was watching, at Planet Fitness they have the TV screens on the treadmill. And so I noticed he was watching the like stocks, like the stock market. And I was like, oh, hey, are you in? And I thought it was something we could talk about. I was like, oh, are you into stocks or whatever? And he's like, no. And I'm like, well, why are you watching that then? And he's like, well, I think if a girl walks by and they see me looking at stocks, they'll think I have a lot of money. I'm like, are you joking? He's like, no, I'm dead serious. And I didn't even, I asked if it worked. And I mean, he couldn't tell me a specific time that it worked. But he's like, I also put on, I guess, soap operas and daytime shows or whatever. and he watches that and he thinks that somebody's going to walk, some woman will walk by and go, oh, he must have a lot of money so I'm going to talk to him and I was like, that's the most ridiculous like, that would never work, right?

01:33:31 - 01:34:38 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't know. Strong strategy I don't know. Somebody told me one time about a guy that goes to the Planet Fitness by me on Union Lake that he would walk in with a duffel bag dressed completely in a suit and he would come in like in the middle of the day take off his suit go work out then afterwards you know shower get back into his suit and leave and he didn't even have a job that wore a suit like he did that as his thing because he said that people would come up to him or whatever it was actually one of the team members there said that that they talked to the guy one time and they're like oh what do you do for a living he's like explain what it was and they go oh wow you have to wear a suit for that and he's like no I just wear this as I'm picking up girls It's the guys that wear scrubs. Yeah. It's the guys. Okay, there you go. It's the guys that wear scrubs. Wear scrubs to the thing. By the way, has anybody ever done that? Has anybody ever tried to fake that they do something or fake the rich in this guy's case? I think that's kind of funny that he would sit there and watch, what was it, CNBC or whatever, one of those business channels?

01:34:38 - 01:34:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, where the guys yell. I forget the guy's name, but he yells at the screen. Jim Cramer. Yes. Mad money.

01:34:43 - 01:34:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's funny. I do it every time I'm on a boat. What do you do? Just trying to pretend like I fit in. I wear, like, Ray-Bans on glasses, and I'm just like, yes, I belong here. Because only boat people are rich people.

01:34:57 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 5:

Do you remember R-Dub, our buddy R-Dub?

01:35:00 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 4:

R-Dub from San Diego. He's on the air and he does the Sunday Night Slow Jams and stuff, which is a syndicated show. He had on his ID and on his checks, it would say Dr. R-Dub. Yes. And it backfired on him on an airplane one time where somebody asked him if he could go see a patient. And he had to say that he was a psychiatrist. Yeah.

01:35:23 - 01:35:44 | Speaker 2:

We all knew somebody who was renting an expensive car for his first time. It was Nick. Okay. Nick Craig. I didn't want to say that out loud because I wasn't positive it was him. But remember, he did that, and I'm like, you are so stupid. Because then what happens if the dates go well, and you end up wanting to pursue a relationship with this person? You're going to be like, oh, yeah, I was just renting that car.

01:35:44 - 01:36:02 | Speaker 4:

What happened to your car? But I think Nick did that while he was dating his now wife, his beautiful wife, Brittany. And I think that they did it. He would take her to Vegas, and then he would rent, like, some really nice car. Like, you know how they have those car rental places on Las Vegas Boulevard on the strip where you can rent, like, a Ferrari or something?

01:36:02 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 2:

But didn't he have a car here that was rented for a hot second? I think he might have. Like, literally rented for just dates?

01:36:08 - 01:36:16 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he might have. I don't know. It was something like that. I haven't talked to him in a while. But those guys that do this thing. What was the Leonardo DiCaprio movie where he faked?

01:36:17 - 01:36:19 | Speaker 2:

Catch Me If You Can. Catch Me If You Can. Great movie.

01:36:19 - 01:36:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, he faked being rich. What's up, Cameron?

01:36:22 - 01:36:23 | Unknown:

Hey, what's going on?

01:36:23 - 01:36:24 | Speaker 4:

What's happening with you?

01:36:24 - 01:37:07 | Speaker 3:

so i uh i wear a suit every day right and and not because i feel like i need to wear a suit every day but i'm in real estate so looking good as part of real estate always looking respectable but i'm always approached anywhere i have dinner if i'm a lawyer and uh if i can help them take on a certain case and uh it happens all the time in uh in like auburn hills or in troy and i'm always approached of whether i'm a lawyer or not do you ever fake it not once i don't know where to go with it that's are you that's something they can trip you up with questions you don't know the answers to right are you a single guy you know what i mean well you never know excuse me are you

01:37:07 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 4:

single uh no i'm not single okay because i was gonna say if you're single you play it you know

01:37:13 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 3:

what i mean you could play it yeah i do get approached all the time especially like i get more approached with a wedding band on than without one it's kind of weird when you're wearing a suit because i don't like to wear suits all the time because you just get it's it's too much that's a

01:37:28 - 01:37:46 | Speaker 4:

good one i wonder how many guys wear a fake wedding band or girls wear a fake wedding band because they get approached girls probably use it to keep people away guys probably use it to see if they can get somebody that thinks that uh that they're taken and you know Or they're just married

01:37:46 - 01:37:49 | Speaker 3:

Hey, thanks for the call

01:37:49 - 01:37:51 | Speaker 4:

Cameron, where do you work? What real estate company

01:37:51 - 01:37:54 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to plug it? Anthony John Luxury Real Estate

01:37:54 - 01:38:03 | Speaker 4:

Hey, can you do me a favor? You got any houses that you're listing that are really nice houses that we can fake and say that we own and we can invite friends over for a little party?

01:38:04 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 3:

We just got a nice $1.2 million house around the Shelby area

01:38:10 - 01:38:25 | Speaker 4:

Come on out this way Reese, that's not that far from where you live. You want to see if we can get Cameron to let you live in the fake house for a day? I'm on the way. You can tell all your friends is radio jobs paying big bucks.

01:38:25 - 01:38:28 | Speaker 3:

Let's go. Hey, we'll do the open house at the station.

01:38:28 - 01:38:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh, there you go. We can do that. Hey, listen, we're trying to rent out this building that we're in. So if you want the listing, we should get this guy the business from Paul.

01:38:37 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 3:

Hey, I'll email you my information And then we'll do it up And then we'll just have an open house And get everybody

01:38:46 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 4:

Will you do me a fair Talk to my assistant, okay Talk to my assistant I pull stuff like that out I just sit there and go Yeah, my people say Thanks for the call

01:38:56 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 1:

The it's only five bucks mentality Has cost us about ten grand if we add it up Anybody want to make a Starbucks run?

01:39:04 - 01:39:05 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning

01:39:05 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 4:

Alright, Mojo in the Morning show So I was so excited about this. I went and bought a bunch of gift cards for our sales department and putting together their gift. And I did it all at Target. I'm sorry, at Kroger. And I did it because they do the four times the fuel points. Yeah. Okay? So I get very excited over that. The best deal. Because my goal is, my ultimate goal is I want them to pay me for filling up my gas tank. I want the fuel points to be so much that I save that much money. I go to use my fuel points yesterday and some bastard stole my points. And I want to talk about this right now because I have no idea who it is. And I want to just put it out there that if you're the person that went and you punched in my number to steal my fuel points, how dare you?

01:40:00 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 2:

I couldn't believe it. I thought that there was an error on their part. And then I did some investigating because I don't know if you know this. I am the in-store voice of Kroger. What? Oh, yes. You hear me? Hi, it's Mojo from Mojo in the Morning. Get your Christmas holiday shopping done all in one place.

01:40:20 - 01:40:28 | Speaker 1:

My dad wasn't aware that you did that. And he went to Kroger the other day. And he called me and he goes, Shannon, something very weird is going on. I'm hearing Mojo's voice up above like he's God. I'll say that.

01:40:28 - 01:40:36 | Speaker 3:

like getting something out of the freezer and all of a sudden you hear are you in the frozen food aisle i'm like yeah what do you follow me and then i oh yeah he's not here i pay you can pay

01:40:36 - 01:41:01 | Speaker 2:

me for shout outs too by the way if you'd like me to but but let me uh let me go back to this fuel points thing this drives me crazy and i want to know who are these people that are stealing other people's fuel points or stealing their points um i'm getting rachel hurst is going to help me with this. We're going to do some investigating. We're going to find out which Kroger gas station somebody used my fuel points at. Oh, you went to one of our friends, one of the executives

01:41:01 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 3:

of Kroger to solve the mystery. But is that going to help you? Yes, because then I'll

01:41:06 - 01:41:22 | Speaker 2:

figure out where the person lives. Because then if I know that they live, I don't know, if they live in your guys' towns, I'll say, oh, Spike lives there. Shannon lives there. Meg, if it's in Toledo, your ass is grass. You found the culprit. Your ass is grass.

01:41:22 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 5:

To be honest, as soon as you brought this up, I was like, genius idea. I can't wait to do this to him. Yeah, because all you do is use the phone number.

01:41:27 - 01:41:36 | Speaker 3:

I was just saying, you run the risk now of bringing up this idea. You're actually telling everyone that knows you, Mojo, that they can just. You have an account, and they know your cell phone number. Lots of points.

01:41:36 - 01:42:12 | Speaker 2:

I'm changing it. I'm putting it on a different number. I'm going to get a burner phone just for my fuel points. Here's the funny thing is, I haven't used my fuel points in so long. And Chelsea and I each have our own phone numbers attached to it. And I've been doing a lot more of the shopping. So I said to Chelsea, I go, you must have used my number. And she goes, no, why would I do that? I've got, you know, my own number. And then I said to her, I go, do you think the boys are doing this? And Chelsea goes, do you really think that our boys are smart enough to know how to do this? They just put it on our credit card, and we're the ones that have to pay for the thing. So what's going on, Mojo in the Morning? Who's this?

01:42:13 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 4:

This is Nina.

01:42:14 - 01:42:16 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Nina. You didn't steal my fuel points, did you?

01:42:17 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't, but you can check in your app how to figure out where and when your points were used.

01:42:23 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's a good point. Yeah, I'll go into the Kroger app and I'll figure out where it is. What would you do if you found out that somebody that you knew and loved was a thief like this?

01:42:36 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I probably, I don't know what I would do. I wouldn't be very happy. However, someone has my number and doesn't use my points, but uses it for the discount, so I get their points.

01:42:48 - 01:42:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh.

01:42:49 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 4:

Ooh, win-win.

01:42:50 - 01:42:54 | Speaker 2:

That's like reverse. That's like the points fairy that's out there.

01:42:54 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's great. I don't care who you are, but keep doing it.

01:42:57 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 2:

Do they buy a lot of stuff? Are they big shoppers?

01:43:00 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 4:

No, it's like $20, $30 here and there.

01:43:03 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's not bad. It's a something. What's up, Casey?

01:43:06 - 01:43:31 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, guys. Good morning. So my brother, he just turned 16, and he just got his own truck. And he's been driving around to the Kroger's near our house, and he puts in every family member's phone number. He'll put in my grandparents, my aunts. And then they're calling us because they have the Kroger app, and they can know what gas station is using their points. They're calling us like, hey, who the hell is using our points?

01:43:32 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:43:33 - 01:43:33 | Speaker 5:

That's great.

01:43:33 - 01:43:34 | Speaker 1:

It's my little brother.

01:43:34 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, smart.

01:43:35 - 01:43:37 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe he would steal from his own grandparents.

01:43:37 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 5:

I know. Horrible, right? Thank you, guys. That little mother-effer.

01:43:41 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 3:

I would. They probably don't see it as stealing. They say, well, it's not like I'm taking it from you. It's just a discount.

01:43:46 - 01:43:46 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Morgan?

01:43:48 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So I had the same thing happen to me with the fuel points. But if anyone had your number before you or after you, they can still set up another Kroger account under the same number. And that's how people steal points. Like, not on purpose.

01:44:03 - 01:44:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so you're thinking that somebody did it accidentally. I've had my number for almost 25 years Yeah, okay So you had a recent change of a number See, mine's my number for a long time

01:44:14 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so we used our old home phone So when I was a kid At our old land lot And we used that number And then that's what happened Also, I love you so much My heart is beating so fast I love you too

01:44:28 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 2:

Thank you, I appreciate you, Morgan What's your phone number? I'm going to use your phone See how much you love us after that She goes there and realizes she doesn't have any more Court, whose number, whose fuel points Are you stealing?

01:44:42 - 01:44:50 | Speaker 4:

My parents That's what we're supposed to do as kids though Well, I'm 45 No, no, no

01:44:50 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 2:

You know what? You were the same little kid that used to go Into your mom's purse and steal things out of there Didn't you?

01:44:57 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

I mean, we're still family, right?

01:45:00 - 01:45:27 | Speaker 7:

Right. Now, have they busted you? Are they aware that you do this? No. I don't know. No, never. And I use them often. So they shop more than I do at Kroger, and I just use their points. I call this a kid tax, and they just got to pay up. I agree. I just shop for them. It's, you know, give and take relationships. And one day we have to take care of them and wipe their little booties. So this is our payment now.

01:45:27 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 5:

This sounds like a take-take relationship. This doesn't sound like a give and take. Karen, you're the only person that's allowed to do what you're doing because of who you're stealing them from. Whose points are you stealing? Karen?

01:45:41 - 01:45:48 | Speaker 7:

Oh, hi. Sorry. So my ex-boyfriend from high school, I still use his family's steal points every time I'm in Ohio.

01:45:49 - 01:45:53 | Speaker 5:

I love it. Steal his points, that ex-SOB.

01:45:53 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 6:

Wes does that to his ex-wife. Oh, my God. He takes all her points. He punches in her phone number.

01:45:57 - 01:45:59 | Speaker 5:

Your boyfriend steals from his ex-wife?

01:46:00 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and she gets so mad, and he thinks it's so funny.

01:46:03 - 01:46:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh.

01:46:04 - 01:46:07 | Speaker 6:

I think that that's a popular way of getting a little discount on your cast.

01:46:08 - 01:46:15 | Speaker 5:

If I were divorced, I would call my divorce attorney, and I would have things completely changed in our decree.

01:46:16 - 01:46:22 | Speaker 2:

On New Year's resolutions, those are the dreams that we have that never come true. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:46:26 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. sometimes when couples are together you always want to know how did they meet and there are some couples that have like really beautiful stories and then there are those that have the not so beautiful or maybe the embarrassing ones and reese who is our director of social impact wants to call out friend of his actually friends uh and how they met and uh reese um It's appropriate for what's going on nowadays. How did they meet?

01:47:00 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 4:

So I have friends. I know that they're in the listening area, so I have to be really careful with how I say this. But they met while on spring break in Cancun during a makeout contest. And now they have a child on the way, and they're married. So it kind of goes to show you can find love anywhere today, folks.

01:47:23 - 01:47:26 | Speaker 5:

Isn't that beautiful? So there were two random strangers?

01:47:26 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, they had no idea who each other were at the time, and they went to two different high schools, but both their high schools went to the same resort. So that's where they went. Did they win the contest? Yeah, I think so. I didn't actually witness it. I was shwasted, not going to lie. I was busy doing other things, but, yeah, I think they won. Nice.

01:47:47 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 3:

If you're not first, you're last.

01:47:48 - 01:47:55 | Speaker 5:

Right. So you did spring break when you were in college at CMU? Oh, yeah.

01:47:55 - 01:47:59 | Speaker 4:

High school? Yeah, this was in high school. Oh, this is a high school one.

01:47:59 - 01:48:02 | Speaker 7:

Wait, is that a make-out contest for high schoolers?

01:48:02 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah.

01:48:03 - 01:48:04 | Speaker 7:

I don't like that.

01:48:04 - 01:48:07 | Speaker 3:

Why do you think I don't want my daughters to go when they were in high school?

01:48:08 - 01:48:15 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Reese, these spring breaks that they do in high school where it's like the senior trips, don't the parents also come on these trips with the kids?

01:48:15 - 01:48:24 | Speaker 4:

Yep, and actually, funny story that you just brought that up, the mom of the girl encouraged her to do it, which is kind of crazy, isn't it?

01:48:24 - 01:48:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the problem. The parents end up having more fun than the kids, and they're the ones getting wasted on the side. They're supposed to be chaperoning, but there'll be, like, you know, a couple parents go down and say, we'll watch all 12 kids, and you've got to watch the parents more than the kids. It's the best.

01:48:40 - 01:49:09 | Speaker 5:

It's funny that you bring that up, Spike, about you didn't want your daughters going at it. Next year would be Luke's, and I told Chelsea already, because we've gone to Punta Cana where we vacationed, and it just so happened that the high school that my son goes to, the seniors were there, And after seeing the spit fest that those kids go through, I don't want to watch my kid go through that. Yeah. Like, like it's different when it's another person's kid and you can see them like passed out in a hallway. I don't want to see my kid doing stuff like that.

01:49:09 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I had my friend, he chaperoned his kid and a bunch of others. And all the kids were getting pulled by like Mexican police for underage drinking and stuff. And it's like all of a sudden it's a big mess on your hands. Like, how do you do it? And then he sees his own daughter get it. And you're like, well, now what do you do? their vacation's over they're not even supposed to be on the resort anymore but he's supposed to be watching the other kids and it's like a big mess so back to reese's topic here about the

01:49:33 - 01:49:44 | Speaker 5:

embarrassing uh way that you guys met as a couple um does anybody have a story that tops reese's friends who met on a spring break makeout session because you think of this couple and when they get

01:49:44 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 3:

older their daughter's gonna ask how did you meet yep yep and they're gonna have to explain all of

01:49:49 - 01:49:59 | Speaker 5:

that 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 i met chelsea on party patrol i hosted i hosted saturday night

01:50:00 - 01:50:34 | Speaker 3:

Party Patrol on 93.7 KRQ, Tucson's only hit music station. And Saturday nights, me and Kid Marconi would go out to Party Patrol, and it was me being, I was 20 years old at the time, and I went to a high school grad party. And they just graduated from high school, and we showed up with our microphones in hand and met Chelsea there, and she gave me not the time of day at all. Not the time of day you should be giving a man with a microphone.

01:50:34 - 01:50:35 | Speaker 4:

That's right. Big star from the radio.

01:50:36 - 01:51:04 | Speaker 3:

That's right. Exactly. But, yeah, that's kind of an embarrassing way. My kids always make fun of us for that. What's the embarrassing way that you guys have met? Spike, you'll have to admit, if something happens with you and your current girlfriend get married someday, um you met uh through dms right you slid it's weird like a different generation because i met

01:51:04 - 01:51:15 | Speaker 4:

my kids like i told my kids a story how you know i met their mother we both did college radio and stuff but it's different nowadays because so many people's origin stories are going to be from the

01:51:15 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 5:

dms or from dating apps yeah yeah like everyone meets on tinder nowadays tinder or jail you never

01:51:23 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 4:

know are you forecasting reese are you looking for a lovely lady that has a felon rap sheet

01:51:30 - 01:51:37 | Speaker 3:

hey i don't discriminate hey why were you not in the make out uh contest like i said i was busy

01:51:37 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 5:

i was uh shwasted he said taking over that bar they loved that bar because i looked like justin bieber at the time so they were always like oh bieber go to the front of the line and it worked out great for me it was the only time in my life we're looking like justin bieber worked out for

01:51:53 - 01:52:01 | Speaker 3:

It's funny because you looked like Justin Bieber at the time, and now you look like Harry Potter. I do get that a lot. Every time I rock the glasses. Yeah, you do.

01:52:02 - 01:52:02 | Speaker 2:

You can't do that.

01:52:03 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 3:

No!

01:52:04 - 01:52:10 | Speaker 2:

No, no, no, no. Not to be weird, but, like, grown-up, like, attractive Daniel Radcliffe, not like 10-year-old boy Daniel Radcliffe.

01:52:10 - 01:52:22 | Speaker 3:

How are you doing, Megan? See, Megan, I disagree. This just turned into spring break real fast. Megan, I disagree with you. I think Reese looks like Harry Potter, Harry Potter, not Daniel Radcliffe.

01:52:22 - 01:52:25 | Speaker 2:

He looks like the boy who lived, not the man who succeeded.

01:52:28 - 01:52:41 | Speaker 3:

Reese even has the glasses, and sometimes he'll wear a maroon shirt when he comes in the studio, and I'm like, oh, my God, here's Harry Potter with the maroon and yellow shirt walking in. I'm going to get you that rugby shirt, okay? Please. Let's do.

01:52:41 - 01:52:43 | Speaker 2:

Ten points for Gryffindor.

01:52:43 - 01:52:57 | Speaker 3:

Our dream has always been to broadcast from either Universal Studios or Disney. If we can get Universal Studios there, we're going to pose it that Reese will walk around as Harry Potter.

01:52:57 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, put a lightning bolt right on his forehead. I'll have to move the Olaf costume to the side.

01:53:03 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 3:

We will send you out.

01:53:05 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 4:

Are you still asking why he wasn't in the makeout contest?

01:53:09 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 3:

Check this text out. Text, I met my husband when he responded to my personal ad on Craigslist. Wow. That's interesting. Oh, my God, another one. uh this is uh four uh four six nine um i met my husband on only fans oh wow wonder who was offering what well will there be a time when only like you know how we talked about how dating apps are you know now the norm or you know uh talking to somebody through their dms or is kind of the norm will there be a time where only fans will be the norm where where we'll one day go oh that's

01:53:50 - 01:53:59 | Speaker 5:

so cute you guys met on only fan never say never so mojo in the morning hold on oh hold on go ahead

01:53:59 - 01:54:11 | Speaker 3:

keep going keep going come on it's got to be good let's judge them let's judge them this is it go ahead mike so what so i met your mom looking at a picture of her and then that's why i stopped Because I can't say what I was going to say.

01:54:12 - 01:54:19 | Speaker 4:

We got tired of being single and broke, so we turned things around. Now we're broke and single. Yay! This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:54:32 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. Good to have you guys on the show. I love this. Um, tell me you're a mom without telling me you're a mom.

01:54:47 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

I was shopping with one of my girlfriends and, uh, she was, we were returning a bunch of stuff. So I was with her standing at the cash register and she's like super discombobulated and.

01:55:00 - 01:55:38 | Speaker 3:

frazzled and trying to figure out where the receipt is for these pants that she needs to return. And she's like, I swear I put them in my coat pocket. So she reaches into her coat pocket and instead of pulling out a receipt, she pulls out a little boys pair of boxer briefs that are Superman and just put those on the cash register counter. She's like, this is my life now. Why is there underwear in her coat pocket? I don't know. I think The same thing has happened to me before. So, yeah, every mom's like, oh, yeah, I've been there. Done that. That's funny. Just the random crap you have in pockets, right? Yeah.

01:55:38 - 01:55:49 | Speaker 2:

All the time. I'm amazed at what women carry in their purse, in their pockets. Like, when you have kids, you just have to have everything with you.

01:55:49 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Can we open it up? Because I think this could be fun.

01:55:53 - 01:55:53 | Speaker 3:

Can we open your purse?

01:55:54 - 01:56:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, can we open it? No. And yes, I do want to. Can you call us up and tell us the three strangest things that you have in your purse with you right now? What are the three things that you have in your purse that would make people go, okay, all right, whatever. But because I love the meme, you know, with your friend of tell me you're a mom without telling me you're a mom. I mean, when you pull out a pair of little kids' underwear.

01:56:19 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're in the thick of momhood. You know you are.

01:56:23 - 01:56:36 | Speaker 1:

But like Spicehead, purses are definitely meant for that. 844-MOTO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. You know what I always say? Mom's purses are like the junk drawer that you have in your house.

01:56:36 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 3:

It is totally. Look at this thing. It's like a diaper bag just filled with crap. I don't understand.

01:56:42 - 01:57:35 | Speaker 1:

You just throw everything in the thing, and then you don't know exactly what it is. I have to tell you, the funniest thing was we did a lot of cleaning up around the house and kind of organizing and things. the junk drawer was the greatest find of things that like i'm going to tell you this there were remote controls inside this thing that i didn't even know what they were for like that's how long ago these remote controls were were you know used and then there were like i don't know like computer things that were there like that i don't even think that they make anymore i could have sold this stuff on a vintage site you know what i mean like some of the things and oh my god i got to take a picture of this thing chelsea has uh the first iphone that was ever made wow she got the first one and we plugged it in and the freaking thing fired up dude can i tell you something i did

01:57:35 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 3:

a dirty story about this i think you might have been out those are worth a ton of money right now like the original iphones and ipods because people want the nestelle like they want the vintage yeah So some of them are selling for upwards of, I'm not joking, $40,000 on eBay.

01:57:51 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 1:

Here's the wildest thing. She went on that thing and found a contact number of a friend that she hasn't lost their number for the longest time. Oh, that's great. That's how long it's been since she had that number. Savannah, three crazy things that are in your purse right now. Share with us.

01:58:06 - 01:58:20 | Speaker 5:

I always have a backup pair of underwear. Same. Then I have eyebrow shavers because my eyebrows grow really fast. I notice them. I can fix them on my way. I have peanuts in there in case I get hungry.

01:58:21 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 3:

I have jerky also in there in case I get hungry. Oh, my gosh. We have very similar things in ours. I always keep underwear with me. I always have chomps, which are like Slim Jims, essentially, in there. Snacks galore. Yeah, I mean, it's just, it's like Mary Poppins bag.

01:58:39 - 01:58:45 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever have car keys that are not from a car that you own? It was a car that you previously had?

01:58:46 - 01:58:51 | Speaker 5:

I have two sets of Jeep keys that I sold and my old car keys.

01:58:51 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 1:

Chelsea and I have a set of car keys at our house for a Buick. We have never owned a Buick before.

01:58:58 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm so serious.

01:58:58 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 1:

Where did that thing come from?

01:59:00 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 3:

Were you guys having key parties?

01:59:01 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. We think that maybe a friend actually brought it. By the way, what is a key party?

01:59:09 - 01:59:12 | Speaker 2:

Well, ask Reese. He goes to those pineapple hotels. Is that what it is?

01:59:12 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 1:

Is it kinky? Is it? Drop them in. Do a little wife swapping. Oh, wow. Okay. Shania, hi. What do you have in your purse?

01:59:21 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so it's not necessarily my purse, but me and my daughter, I was going on a trip with my boyfriend, and it was our first time going to be alone, so we know what we were going to do. And me and my daughter have, like, she has a mini version of my suitcase, like a small travel-sized bag of my suitcase. Yeah. So when my babysitter popped the trunk and pulled her stuff out, I get to the hotel room, I get in the shower, I get out, open my bag, and lo and behold, it's a bunch of baby stuff in there. There's her bag, and she has my bag.

01:59:51 - 01:59:53 | Speaker 1:

You guys are flopped.

01:59:55 - 02:00:02 | Speaker 4:

So I was like, we got to go. We got to go get that bag. Because my bag has, like, all. types of horrible things in it. Like what?

02:00:02 - 02:00:03 | Speaker 2:

Like what, Shania? Tell us.

02:00:03 - 02:00:11 | Speaker 4:

It was my first time being with him. Well, our first time being alone together. And? Oh. It was a romantic night.

02:00:11 - 02:00:13 | Speaker 3:

You're going to pull out all the tricks and tools.

02:00:15 - 02:00:16 | Speaker 4:

My daughter had the bag.

02:00:17 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. Oh, my God. Stacey, what do you have in your purse?

02:00:24 - 02:00:25 | Speaker 1:

A corkscrew.

02:00:25 - 02:00:27 | Speaker 2:

A corkscrew. Yeah, that's essential.

02:00:27 - 02:00:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, let's be best friends, please.

02:00:29 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 4:

I've been at so many parties that people bring a bottle of wine, and they're like, oh, crap, we don't have a corkscrew. And I always have a corkscrew in my purse.

02:00:38 - 02:00:42 | Speaker 2:

Genius. Always able to be the opener for everybody. What's up, Adam?

02:00:43 - 02:00:45 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys. Good morning.

02:00:45 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on? What do you got? You have a murse? What do you got?

02:00:49 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 1:

No, so, you know, I'm going to represent the dads, and I got my jacket, all right? So one thing, I got a handkerchief, And that tells me I am turning into my dad Because he always carried a handkerchief on me And now I'm always carrying a handkerchief on me Two, a little pair of socks Because I was in the service In case his feet get wet or something He's always running around You've got to always have an extra pair of socks And three, just sunglasses I have sunglasses And when I rock mine, he's got to have his

02:01:19 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 2:

That's cool So in the dad spot Is in your jacket, right? In your winter jacket?

02:01:26 - 02:01:27 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely. My car.

02:01:28 - 02:01:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Got to have that. Thank you for the call, man.

02:01:32 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Thank you.

02:01:33 - 02:01:41 | Speaker 3:

Good morning, guys. We appreciate that. Cheaters. I'm proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning.

02:01:41 - 02:01:44 | Speaker 2:

Molly, who is it that you think is cheating?

02:01:45 - 02:01:45 | Speaker 4:

My husband.

02:01:46 - 02:01:49 | Speaker 2:

Can you tell us a little bit about why?

02:01:50 - 02:01:54 | Speaker 4:

It's a typical thing. He's been acting really, really strange, really weird lately.

02:01:55 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 3:

So your intuition is that something is up.

02:01:59 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:02:00 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 1:

Is there something like specific?

02:02:05 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Well, there's just some these things happenings at night. So I go to bed and wake up and he's not there. And I'll call him and he'll say he's at the office, that there was an emergency.

02:02:20 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 2:

Like in the middle of the night?

02:02:22 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And what does he do? he's an IT for okay

02:02:30 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 2:

and so he will get phone calls from work to go to work and it could be at all hours of the day

02:02:39 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 4:

yeah I mean occasionally they do have big issues but it seems like it's been happening a lot

02:02:46 - 02:03:00 | Speaker 2:

now there is something else that has happened that is to me the most suspect of all of your reasons why you think that your husband's cheating on you. Will you tell us about that?

02:03:02 - 02:03:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. One big thing happened is that I got a call on my phone number saying they had a furniture delivery for me for a brand new mattress. But the address that they had was not our address.

02:03:21 - 02:03:26 | Speaker 2:

What was the address? Where was this mattress supposedly supposed to be delivered to?

02:03:27 - 02:03:30 | Speaker 4:

It's an apartment complex and...

02:03:30 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 2:

And did they say his name or your name or whose name?

02:03:37 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 4:

They said his name was on it, but my phone number was on there because we've bought furniture from this place before.

02:03:48 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of weird. So how do you know it was an apartment complex?

02:03:52 - 02:04:01 | Speaker 4:

Oh. Well, because I've been there. I've been there a lot, actually. For the last month, I've waited outside.

02:04:03 - 02:04:07 | Speaker 2:

You actually waited outside the actual apartment complex where it was delivered to?

02:04:08 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 1:

So you had them give you the address?

02:04:11 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:04:11 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:04:12 - 02:04:14 | Speaker 2:

And what'd you do? Your own surveillance?

02:04:16 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 4:

I guess.

02:04:18 - 02:04:19 | Speaker 2:

And did you find anything?

02:04:19 - 02:04:29 | Speaker 4:

no i haven't seen anyone come or go wow i mean a mattress delivery is a pretty weird thing

02:04:29 - 02:04:53 | Speaker 2:

you are by the way very patient that you would uh i would not say anything to him or right away wow but i guess you're trying to catch him doing what he's not supposed to be doing and that is who knows who he's buying furniture for. On the phone with us right now is Molly. She thinks her husband is cheating. How many years you guys been together?

02:04:54 - 02:04:55 | Speaker 4:

Twelve.

02:04:55 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 2:

You guys got kids?

02:04:57 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we have two.

02:04:59 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Wow.

02:05:00 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 1:

02:08:45 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

all right we're going to try to get him back on the phone with us okay all right hang on the phone Okay Cheater cheater pumpkin eater Mojo in the morning's war of the roses War of the roses I absolutely love it Mojo in the morning Call the show now 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 You are listening to Mojo in the morning So a wife suspects that her husband is cheating. There's a number of different reasons why. One was this mysterious furniture delivery that came, and it wasn't delivered to their house, but when they were called about the delivery, it was told that there was another address, which turned out to be an address within an apartment complex, not that close to the home of Molly and her husband, Henry. So that's one of those things. And then the other one was...

02:10:00 - 02:10:21 | Speaker 3:

He will leave in the middle of the night, sneak out, and then when she says, where are you, he will say that he has to go to work because he has emergency stuff that's going on. That just seemed like so suspect to me. I mean, I get it. Listen, we've got people that work here at our radio station that are in IT and engineering, and there are issues that come.

02:10:21 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 1:

But when it's happening very frequently, all of a sudden, it becomes a red flag.

02:10:27 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 3:

Shauna, hi. It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:10:29 - 02:11:05 | Speaker 4:

hi mojo how's it going guys good morning so i was dating this guy and every tuesday night he would have to go back to his apartment complex to take the trash out because he would take the trash out for like the whole apartment complex which was only like a dozen apartments but like to get a discount on his rent so i like thought this was totally legit every Tuesday night. He would leave my apartment, go spend the night at his apartment, and then I get that Facebook message from this girl who's like, I've been seeing your man every Tuesday night.

02:11:05 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh my God.

02:11:07 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 4:

I'm like, oh, what the hell? I'm like, look, you're trash. Take the trash out. Isn't that interesting?

02:11:15 - 02:11:23 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that interesting, by the way, that that is exactly what he was leaving to do. But you know what? You don't think that they're going to make a story up like that.

02:11:23 - 02:11:31 | Speaker 4:

oh my god really you're that desperate yeah i i like to go to that extreme yeah but it's

02:11:31 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 3:

interesting to me though that in the entire time that he was doing this that you never said to him you know what don't stand the night there or let's spend the night together there you know

02:11:39 - 02:11:51 | Speaker 4:

one of those type of things i did and we would like randomly if i pressed the issue then he would like come back or i would go with them but oh so do you think do you think that he would have

02:11:51 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 3:

to call her ahead of time and say i'm bringing my oh he texts her and be like oh don't come over yeah huh thanks thanks guys appreciate it uh voices guys uh this next caller here will give you the alias lauren hello hello hi what's going on it's mojo in the morning we were talking about when they sneak out in the middle of the night to go cheat

02:12:15 - 02:12:43 | Speaker 2:

yes i was about 37 weeks pregnant um and my boyfriend would get up and leave and i would call his phone in the middle of the night and he would not answer and two days before i was being induced um my dad had called me out of nowhere and was like hey i know where your boyfriend has been he's been hanging out with such and such girl and come to find out this girl is my dad's

02:12:43 - 02:12:50 | Speaker 3:

best friend's daughter oh my god did your dad oh gosh did your dad want to kill him oh absolutely

02:12:50 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 2:

i mean there's other stuff that led up to my dad wanting to kill him but i mean there was a lot more going on at the time than i actually realized because i mean i have a three year old also and i'm just about to give birth to our second child how how did he meet your dad's

02:13:06 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 3:

best friend's daughter like how did that come about his sister was best friends with her so It was like a family thing.

02:13:14 - 02:13:44 | Speaker 2:

I went over to his sister's house, and every time, like, if I woke up in the middle of the night and he wasn't there, I would go over to his sister's house and be like, hey, do you know where he is? And she always liked me. She knew exactly where he was. And on March 7th, our three-year-old had a doctor's appointment, and I also had, at the time, a three-week-old. And I actually ended up finding his car at this girl's house. I walked into her house. I went upstairs and I found the both of them.

02:13:44 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

02:13:45 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 4:

Look if she remembers the actual date.

02:13:47 - 02:14:00 | Speaker 3:

Did it cause for your family situations to kind of be strained? Like, this woman or your dad's best friend's daughter, you know, has it caused for your dad and his best friend to have issues?

02:14:01 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 2:

No, not really. I mean, my dad just doesn't speak to her. We're actually still together. We are working on our relationship. if we now have an eight-month-old and almost four-year-old.

02:14:15 - 02:14:17 | Speaker 3:

He's not leaving in the middle of the night now, is he?

02:14:18 - 02:14:20 | Speaker 2:

No, no. He's not.

02:14:20 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no more leaving. I'm sorry, you can't even go to the bathroom. You go to the bathroom before you go to bed, and you stay in bed. Alex.

02:14:28 - 02:14:28 | Speaker 5:

Hi.

02:14:28 - 02:14:32 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Your guy would actually say he was going to his mom's house in the middle of the night?

02:14:33 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he would claim, like, even in the daytime, too, he would say he was going to his mom's house, but he actually was meeting up with girls on some, like, dating app that no one, it was, like, so secluded I didn't even know about. So I found it on his phone, and there was, like, 32 girls he was in a relationship with while he was dating me.

02:14:55 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Wow. How did you find out that he was actually going and doing this dating app and not going to his mom's?

02:15:00 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 5:

Um, because he was, um, went to the bathroom one day and he left his phone unlocked and I saw it on his phone. So obviously I like clicked on it.

02:15:10 - 02:15:10 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:15:11 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 5:

And then once he like found out I knew, he became like very aggressive and he was so

02:15:16 - 02:15:20 | Speaker 3:

mad. How many other girls was he dating at the same time? 32? 32.

02:15:20 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh. You guys got a lot of time with his mom, huh? 32 times he's getting up and about. Man. Kathy. hello what's going on kathy we were talking about this situation the war of the roses which if you just missed it we busted a guy cheating on his wife he would leave in the middle of the night to say that he was going to work to do some emergency stuff what happened with your husband

02:15:44 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 6:

um it was the same issue um he was saying that he was going to work and um i never thought anything of it and he um left early in the morning he was we live like an hour away from work and he left at like four in the morning and um all of a sudden i noticed his paychecks were a little bit lower than what they should be because he was leaving on a weekend which he would make more money and um he wouldn't he just kept saying oh you know they must have it must have been gone into my 401k or went into this or went into that and um i ended up finding out that that's what he was doing he was leaving early in the morning saying that he was going to work but he

02:16:30 - 02:16:39 | Speaker 1:

was actually meeting up with someone geez my god explain this to me why would he not be smart enough to realize that you would notice that he wasn't getting paid the overtime that he was

02:16:39 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 6:

supposed to be getting paid i have no idea i i really don't i mean he even actually i found out because he was like, I'm so busy at work and blah, blah, blah. And he would say that he was getting phone calls from people from work, and it was actually her that was calling him. But he put the guy from work's name in his phone with her number.

02:17:05 - 02:17:12 | Speaker 1:

Jeez, man. Thanks for sharing that, Kathy. I hope that this doesn't bring back too much stress in your life right now, listening to this and hearing this.

02:17:13 - 02:17:17 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no, not at all. Thank you so much. I appreciate you guys. Oh, we appreciate you.

02:17:18 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 1:

Danny?

02:17:20 - 02:17:20 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

02:17:20 - 02:17:21 | Speaker 1:

What's up?

02:17:22 - 02:17:22 | Speaker 4:

What's going on?

02:17:23 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 1:

What's going on with you?

02:17:25 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to call in and give in the guy's perspective. It actually happened to me. My now ex-wife would leave around 5 in the morning on the weekends and leave me and my daughters asleep to go work out, saying she was working out. But find out a couple months later that she was actually cheating on me and going to work out, but to be with this other woman that you met, too. Oh, my gosh.

02:17:51 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 2:

Another woman. Seems like the gym or working out is a big excuse because it gives people a regular appointment.

02:17:58 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 1:

Hey, question for you. How did you figure that out? Because at 5 in the morning on a Saturday, if my wife is leaving to go work out, I'm like, man, more power to you. But I'm staying in bed. I would have never been exploring, like, the reason, you know, that you would be cheating.

02:18:15 - 02:18:18 | Speaker 2:

Did you catch her in the act, or did you find messages or something?

02:18:19 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 4:

No, I actually got it out of her. I mean, she denied it and denied it for so long, and then once she put the divorce through, that's when she actually got it.

02:18:30 - 02:18:34 | Speaker 1:

So she was working out so much, was she not losing weight, and that's the reason why you were realizing it?

02:18:35 - 02:18:49 | Speaker 4:

No, she was actually losing weight. She was doing it before she ended up meeting this person, But I've never had any suspicions, you know, and then all of a sudden, you know, she was just she just became really distant.

02:18:49 - 02:18:53 | Speaker 3:

And OK, is she with this woman now?

02:18:53 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 4:

No, she actually this woman is actually cheated on her with somebody else.

02:18:58 - 02:18:59 | Speaker 1:

So, oh, boy, male or female?

02:18:59 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I have no idea. Probably a female.

02:19:03 - 02:19:07 | Speaker 1:

OK, thanks, Danny. I appreciate your call, man. Sorry that remember these songs.

02:19:13 - 02:19:14 | Speaker 2:

But now I'm a billionaire.

02:19:16 - 02:19:21 | Speaker 6:

See how well you do in a throwback throw now. It's tomorrow after 8 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:19:22 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon, the partner pet peeve.

02:19:29 - 02:19:43 | Speaker 3:

Is there something about Chels or is there something, Spike, about your girlfriend, Meg, that is so dumb and so silly and stupid, but it just drives you absolutely crazy? Because I realized I had one of them. No, not at all.

02:19:43 - 02:19:51 | Speaker 2:

Shut up, both of you are big, fat liars. That just drives me crazy just how perfect she is and beautiful.

02:19:52 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's her birthday. You get a pass today. I'm not messing this up. There's something I realized that my boyfriend, Wes, does that drives me ass.

02:20:00 - 02:20:31 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely nuts. Really? It's the way he eats snacks. What do you mean snacks? Yeah, like trail mix or M&Ms or like anything that you can have in your hand, like in the palm of your hand and eat. He does this thing where he like old man jiggles, jiggles the peanuts in his hand and then curls his fingers over as he pops them into his mouth. What's wrong with that? I can't watch him. You do it. That's why you're so defensive.

02:20:31 - 02:20:36 | Speaker 5:

No, I don't know if I do it, but I've seen people do it, and I think that that's perfectly normal.

02:20:36 - 02:20:40 | Speaker 2:

That is a guy thing. It's just like such a dude. Yeah, it's such like a...

02:20:40 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 4:

By the way, don't do that motion anymore of him jiggling his nuts in his hands. That looks like he's doing something else. If you know what I mean.

02:20:50 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 2:

Every time he does it, I'm like, stop doing that.

02:20:53 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 5:

I think out of all the things that could drive you nuts about a person...

02:20:56 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 2:

I said it has to be petty and dumb.

02:20:59 - 02:21:25 | Speaker 5:

I know, but out of all the things that could drive you nuts, this man must be so perfect. He must be so perfect if him eating trail mix the way that he eats trail mix. How about if I've eaten trail mix before and gotten busted for tipping over the big plastic container in my mouth? That might be Chelsea's thing about you. I mean, would you rather have jiggling of the nuts or eating right out of the container? It's funny though, now that you mention it. No nuts. No nuts. Okay?

02:21:26 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 4:

I think I might be the only guy I know that doesn't do that. and I'm like, did they send everybody to a school? Was I sick the day they taught all the guys to do that Jiggle Your Nuts thing? You know what it is?

02:21:34 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 2:

It's the jiggle, jiggle. I think of the Tic Tac song.

02:21:36 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. My money don't jiggle, jiggle. I like to see you wiggle, wiggle, for sure. It makes me want to dribble, dribble. You know, riding in my fear. You really have to see it.

02:21:47 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 5:

What is the thing that annoys you about your significant other? Hold on.

02:21:52 - 02:21:56 | Speaker 4:

Maybe that's what pet peeve stands for petty pet peeve.

02:21:56 - 02:22:00 | Speaker 2:

I know it's petty. I am very understanding of this.

02:22:01 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. I'm going to call.

02:22:02 - 02:22:02 | Speaker 2:

But that's the whole point.

02:22:03 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to call my wife and ask her what annoys her about me. Oh, my gosh. And see what she says.

02:22:09 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 3:

Hello.

02:22:10 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea?

02:22:11 - 02:22:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:22:12 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 5:

Shannon thought of a topic that is interesting. I'd love to know your answer on it. What is the petty thing that I do, something simple that everybody would kind of like discard, they wouldn't even think about it, that annoys you? And if you say breathe Breathe

02:22:28 - 02:22:34 | Speaker 3:

I knew you were going to I knew you were going to say that

02:22:34 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 5:

And I don't want you

02:22:35 - 02:22:41 | Speaker 3:

Dick Is there anything that I do

02:22:41 - 02:22:44 | Speaker 5:

Like explain Shannon what Wes does That annoys you

02:22:44 - 02:22:59 | Speaker 2:

So Wes does this thing when he eats snacks Where he puts a few in the palm of his hand And like peanuts for example And like jiggles them and then he tosses them into his mouth and it's the jiggle that drives me crazy. I don't know why.

02:23:00 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 3:

Like an old man. Yes.

02:23:02 - 02:23:13 | Speaker 5:

Chelsea, you would look at Wes as a dream if you were dating a guy like that. If that was the least of the things that he did or I did, you would probably be like, are you kidding me? There's nothing wrong with that.

02:23:14 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you crunch really loud whatever food you're eating and then you look at me like, what? What?

02:23:22 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 5:

I do. I chew. Crunching your teeth off. So we ordered Crispelli's pizza the other night, and they have a very hard crust for their gluten-free crust. And Chelsea says, are you enjoying that crust? And I go, yeah. And I go, what do you want me to do? It's like rock-hard crust. Like, there's nothing I can do. I got a gluten allergy, and usually gluten-free crust blows, but I'm sorry. You know, I try my best.

02:23:49 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 2:

Okay, now there's somebody else who texted and the pizza crust thing drives them crazy. She says, my husband takes two bites of his slice of pizza, then one bite of crust. It's the same pattern. Two bites of pizza, one bite of crust. Two bites of pizza, one bite of crust.

02:24:04 - 02:24:14 | Speaker 5:

Wow, that's actually kind of a wild way to eat it. But I don't know, I'm going to try that next time. All right, Chels, I'll let you go. By the way, I said this, there is nothing that you do that annoys me.

02:24:15 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sure.

02:24:17 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that is such bull crap I love you, take care, bye Nadia, what's going on, Nadia?

02:24:26 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Good morning, Mojo

02:24:27 - 02:24:32 | Speaker 5:

Good morning, Nadia What is it that your partner does That annoys the crap out of you?

02:24:33 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god, it really annoys me When he sleeps with a conforter upside down

02:24:39 - 02:24:43 | Speaker 4:

Really? He has no concern for what it looks like?

02:24:45 - 02:24:55 | Speaker 1:

Really? Like, even that, or when he rotates it, and, you know, the design of the comforter is in the front, and then the other one is at the bottom. Oh, yeah.

02:24:55 - 02:25:05 | Speaker 5:

So the comforter has to be right way up in order for you to sleep right. Exactly. Otherwise, I will wake him up, make his rise, and then sleep again.

02:25:05 - 02:25:10 | Speaker 3:

Okay, perfect. All right, thank you for the call. I love it. Brie, hi. What is it that your guy does?

02:25:11 - 02:25:14 | Speaker 5:

Hi. He constantly clears his throat.

02:25:15 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

02:25:16 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 10:

Poor guy might have a medical condition.

02:25:19 - 02:25:22 | Speaker 3:

You would, by the way, not be able to be in our studio after we eat breakfast.

02:25:23 - 02:25:31 | Speaker 1:

No. Especially if Mojo has dairy. And then he talks about how it's dairy that's making him clear his throat. Oh, I have so much dairy today.

02:25:31 - 02:25:34 | Speaker 7:

That's literally what he sounds like constantly. Oh, man. A drink of water?

02:25:37 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 3:

What's up? Is it E-lay or E-lay? E-lay, yeah. E-lay, what's going on, buddy? Are you sure you want to do this? You may never get any ever again if they find out that you call the radio station.

02:25:50 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 4:

You know, I'm a solution-oriented guy, so I've been going to the hardware store to work on this over the week. But my lovely girlfriend who just moved in, pardon me, my lovely girlfriend who just moved in, she will put two towels, two of those, you know, shower towels on the towel rack so they squish together and neither of them dry well. And, you know, they get, you know, a funky smell to them and everything. Yeah, yeah. It's little, but it just, you know, it gets me.

02:26:18 - 02:26:26 | Speaker 3:

One of those things. Simple stuff. Well, maybe if you're going to the hardware store, you need to go get a second towel rack for her.

02:26:27 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, absolutely. That's what I'm working on. Okay. And some catch-up.

02:26:31 - 02:26:32 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:26:33 - 02:26:34 | Speaker 4:

We're staying in the good graces.

02:26:34 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 3:

Thank you for the call. Tiffany? Yes, hi. Hi. Your guy does the jiggle?

02:26:41 - 02:26:54 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my gosh. It makes me insane, and I can hear it anywhere in the house. He will fill a cup of water, and then he will fill it with ice, or he'll put ice in it first and then shake it around like it's going to make it colder.

02:26:55 - 02:26:58 | Speaker 10:

Oh, okay. So it's not the nut jiggle, it's the ice jiggle.

02:26:59 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 6:

Yes, yes. He just jiggles his ice around constantly.

02:27:03 - 02:27:05 | Speaker 10:

He's making the music of love for you.

02:27:06 - 02:27:13 | Speaker 6:

It makes me crazy. And my kids always laugh when they hear it because it doesn't make the water any colder. Like, just let it sit there and get cold.

02:27:13 - 02:27:19 | Speaker 10:

Well, actually, it does. That's why bartenders have a shaker and they mix the ice with the cocktail.

02:27:19 - 02:27:31 | Speaker 3:

And last one from Amy. Amy, what is it that he does that annoys the crap out of you?

02:27:32 - 02:27:59 | Speaker 7:

My husband's jaw clicks when he eats. He got in a fight in high school and somehow messed up his jaw, and it clicks so loud. So especially when he's eating a snack by himself and we're watching TV or something, it's just like, click, click, click, click. and i'll just give him a look and he can he can quiet it he can't make it go away but i just give him a look and and he'll shut it down but i wow such sympathy for the guy you met who would

02:27:59 - 02:28:06 | Speaker 10:

probably stand for you in a fight at the risk of being punched in the jaw and the click gets on

02:28:06 - 02:28:18 | Speaker 3:

your nerves exactly that's who he was when you met him this is love i know i said i was going to take only one last one but i i lied darla tell everybody the annoying thing that your partner

02:28:18 - 02:28:39 | Speaker 5:

does um it's only with pop every time he drinks pop he takes he drinks so much and afterwards he has to go there's just something about it he's enjoying it right i i guess it drives me insane

02:28:39 - 02:28:48 | Speaker 2:

before you agree to that first date ladies make sure he has a bed frame this is mojo in the

02:28:48 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 3:

morning all right we're gonna do a phone scam here on the mojo in the morning show we are going to call a pet store to see if they sell food for a new animal in our house spike now has a pet penguin that he stole from the zoo. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

02:29:06 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home with phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

02:29:18 - 02:29:25 | Speaker 9:

Thank you for calling. Hello? Hello. Hi, it's Alice. Hi. What time do you open?

02:29:25 - 02:29:28 | Speaker 8:

We're open from 10 to 6.

02:29:28 - 02:29:37 | Speaker 9:

Okay, and what do you feed a penguin? A penguin? Yes, I need to purchase some food for aquatic birds. Can you put some aside for me?

02:29:38 - 02:29:43 | Speaker 8:

I don't think, I think I'll have to order you something for aquatic birds. That's so scary.

02:29:44 - 02:29:53 | Speaker 9:

Oh, dear. Okay. My son stole, he took a penguin from the zoo as a prank, and I'm going to take it back to them, but they're closed today.

02:29:53 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my gosh.

02:29:54 - 02:29:58 | Speaker 9:

I open his backpack, and his little head pops out. He's got a friend.

02:29:59 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 8:

Oh, my gosh.

02:30:00 - 02:30:03 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, so I'm just trying to find a place that has food. You know what I'm saying?

02:30:03 - 02:30:08 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Have you been online to see? There may be something you can get at the grocery store.

02:30:08 - 02:30:29 | Speaker 7:

I Googled her, you know, the penguin, because it was difficult to get the thing on its back so we could check to see if it was a boy or a girl penguin, but it's a girl. Cute little bugger. I Googled her, and she's a juvenile, black-footed penguin. Beautiful creature. So I look it up, and it said, you know, obviously they have a special diet and everything.

02:30:30 - 02:30:33 | Speaker 5:

I have no idea where you would buy food for something like that.

02:30:33 - 02:30:53 | Speaker 7:

02:30:54 - 02:30:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. I wonder if there's a number you could call at the zoo. I'll bet somebody would meet you.

02:31:00 - 02:31:02 | Speaker 7:

Oh, oh, I see, like an emergency number.

02:31:02 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:31:03 - 02:31:10 | Speaker 7:

Because I tried emailing, and the thing doesn't, you know, it's about tickets, it's about this and that and everything except the penguins.

02:31:10 - 02:31:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, they've got to have some kind of emergency number. Right?

02:31:14 - 02:31:25 | Speaker 7:

I know. It's the weirdest thing when you think about it. You know, one day Sidney's waddling around Antarctica, and next thing you know, a year or two later, she's in the basement in the suburbs getting taught how to play Call of Duty by my Dylan.

02:31:25 - 02:31:31 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. I would try calling the zoo and call 911.

02:31:32 - 02:31:32 | Speaker 7:

Oh, 911?

02:31:33 - 02:31:35 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, they need to get it back.

02:31:35 - 02:31:43 | Speaker 7:

You'll feel horrible. Oh, God, no. She's pulling down the curtains. Look at her. Dylan, get her away from the cat. This is crazy.

02:31:43 - 02:31:44 | Speaker 5:

Oh, bless your heart.

02:31:44 - 02:32:09 | Speaker 7:

I did not sign up for this. Oh, I got to go. She's eating the remote. For the love of Samuel L. Jackson. Dylan, listen, can you call someone for me? Okay. Can you call the Mojo in the Morning Show? Because this is Spike and you've just been the victim of a phone scam. No time for me. There's your bless your heart. Exactly.

02:32:11 - 02:32:15 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you.

02:32:17 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 3:

Yep, go ahead and laugh. You might be next. It's the home of the world famous phone scam.

02:32:25 - 02:32:33 | Speaker 2:
