Showtime.

00:03:04 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 6:

there's a mystery on our hands right now it's mojo in the morning show and we need to find out Who done it? Dun, dun, dun, dun. I don't have good production elements for this one. What kind of music is that, Mike? Law & Order. Oh, okay. I've never seen Law & Order. Okay, I got this. I got this. There you go. That's a different crime to talk about. You've never seen Law & Order.

00:03:50 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 1:

I haven't, no.

00:03:51 - 00:03:53 | Speaker 6:

None of the Law & Orders, SVU? No.

00:03:53 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 1:

I've never watched one. Wow, that's the most un-American thing you've ever said.

00:03:57 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 6:

it's it's the most mindless television ever uh-huh but it's good now let's get back to mike's it's the mystery of the red yeti what's the story here mike somebody i don't know who it is i have

00:04:15 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 5:

no idea who it is because there's no uh return address on it somebody shipped a one of those red yeti coolers the same one you got me mojo here in to the station the same one that i wanted here to the station i have no idea who did it it just says yeah it just says it came from dicks um and outside of that i have no idea it was just a giant box here and i opened it up and it was one of those coolers and i i feel like i should either find out who it is and say i should obviously find out who it is and say thank you but i feel like i should return it like i have one now i should give it back to them i don't that was very nice but i don't know if i should keep but you don't know who it's from there was no note or anything no do you think that maybe you won that raffle that you entered that uh I didn't put the station address on it. You put your home address on it? Yeah, yeah. Maybe there's like some listener that is listening to the show that heard you talking about that cooler. And kind of the same situation that I was in when I heard you talking about it. And then when I heard you get phone scanned by Spike, and I'm thinking to myself, this poor guy, all he wants is a red Yeti cooler. And now it's a very nice cooler. It is. But let me just say this to you. This guy can't do anything for a red Yeti cooler. Give him a red Yeti cooler. Maybe that's what they did. And they did, you know.

00:05:38 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 2:

All right, I'll be honest right here on the air. Yeah, right. I felt bad about the phone scam. I sent you the red Yeti cooler.

00:05:45 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 5:

I don't believe you. It would have your name written all over it. As long as nobody else messages you. It would have a picture of your face. It would have your head shot on it.

00:05:51 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 2:

As far as you know, it's totally me.

00:05:56 - 00:06:08 | Speaker 4:

Okay, okay. But if we've got listeners out here buying us nice things, I'm not mad at, like, diamond earrings, purses, some shoes on the 7 1⁄2.

00:06:10 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 5:

Mike, so you got two red Yeti coolers, man. I mean, I have to return it, right? I can't keep this.

00:06:15 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 3:

No, it was a gift, though. You could have his and hers.

00:06:19 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's what Allie said, too. I'm wondering if I should see if I can, I don't know. that i i ordered mine directly from yeti so i wonder if uh um i wonder if first off let me tell you this it was the last one that they had so it was the last one so maybe you put it up on on i don't know uh ebay or whatever and see what kind of money you can get for it saying you can't feel

00:06:45 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 2:

guilty about it because you didn't even know it was coming nobody put a name on it i know well

00:06:49 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 5:

i'd like to at least say thank you it's it's kind of an expensive you're welcome it's not you i know It's not you

00:06:54 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 2:

You're totally right I would never do it Anonymously Yeah

00:06:58 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 5:

Do you ever watch The Curb Your Enthusiasm With Larry When Larry And Ted Danson When

00:07:06 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh Yes

00:07:07 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 5:

With the With the What was it They made a donation And Larry Anonymous

00:07:13 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 3:

Larry put his name And Ted Danson Made a huge donation And wrote From Anonymous Yeah

00:07:19 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 5:

And it was like So contentious And Ted Danson Got more credit For the anonymous What's going on Jessica

00:07:27 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 1:

Hi guys good morning Good morning I just wanted to say That maybe it is a listener Gifting it to Mike For like representing you guys On all those breaking and entering Christmases

00:07:40 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 5:

No that's not no That would be so nice Mike is like a special guy He really is I don't do that for gifts though Like that's not for gifts

00:07:51 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

I know, I know I was just saying maybe it was just someone Just paying it forward and showing their kindness Yeah

00:07:57 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 5:

That's sweet, it's very sweet We have listeners that are amazing And we have listeners that have, you know Made us, just by throwing out Hey, you're Polish I love, you know, I love Polish food We had a listener that brought the food in Oh, the dolma

00:08:12 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 3:

What did she bring in?

00:08:14 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 5:

She brought in the Stuffed cabbage Yeah, the stuffed cabbage

00:08:19 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 2:

You guys are so nice knowing that I like craft beer and stuff.

00:08:23 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 5:

I think you're more likely to get craft beer than Megan getting diamonds.

00:08:27 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

All right. Gin. I love gin.

00:08:30 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 5:

Wait. You told me, though, that you've been getting Amazon packages that you don't order.

00:08:36 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 4:

Dude, yeah. I don't know what's going on. I'll be ordering from a company, and they keep sending me more things than I'm actually ordering. And it's starting to make me feel really guilty. But I also feel like finders keepers. I win. That's such a bad mentality I should be sending these extra things back But I'm not

00:08:57 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 5:

So what happens in that case Like what happens if you get Something sent to you from Amazon or whatever And it's not something that you ordered Or they throw extras in there

00:09:08 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 2:

I know they've sent me something before That I didn't order and I called them Or I emailed them and they were just like keep it Like for them it was cheaper to just lose the item Than it was to pay for shipping to return it So I was like okay But, you know, I think now they're a little more suspect that you might have taken off somebody's porch or something.

00:09:25 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's addressed to me, by the way. The box doesn't have, like, my neighbor's address on it. It's addressed to me. It's just not what I ordered.

00:09:33 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 2:

I feel like it's finder's keepers because that's a lot of effort to, like, have to go and repackage it and return it and print a label and all that stuff.

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I... It's a mistake. So you're telling me it's the year of the Yeti birthday coolers then, huh? To go back to the Amazon thing real quick, just to wrap that up one second, you ever have something go wrong with whatever it is that you buy, like an item that you buy, or you get the wrong item or you didn't like the item?

00:10:00 - 00:10:02 | Speaker 6:

and you try to return it, they never want

00:10:02 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 4:

it back. They don't. It's wild. Especially nowadays. It's too much of a hassle.

00:10:06 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 6:

I know they must be getting scammed all the time. And there are people that fake it all the time, but I'm sure that what they do is they look at your account and see if you're constantly doing something like that. And then if you're constantly doing something like that, they're probably like, you know, not going to put up a bit. But they also sell

00:10:19 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 3:

those mystery boxes of returns. So they're making a profit off of you returning items anyway, so I'm a little surprised by that yeah it's a mystery box of returns you can buy pallets of returned items to amazon um they use a third-party website but it is like amazon verified the only thing is you don't know what you're getting and you don't know the condition that it's in but people unbox them all the time like it's not that expensive for all the crap that you're getting and some of the people repair

00:10:49 - 00:10:55 | Speaker 6:

the stuff and then like resell it yeah smart hey what's going on mojo on the morning show hi nick

00:10:56 - 00:10:56 | Unknown:

Hi.

00:10:56 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 2:

So I recently bought a house, and I moved, obviously, because I bought a house. Anyway.

00:11:03 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 6:

You know what? You are Mike. You're the storyteller that tells every detail on this one. You are Mike. You're doing a very good job of that.

00:11:13 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

And a package showed up at my door from, like, the Chewy.com, like the pet store, and I don't buy stuff from there. And so I brought it inside. I was like, what is this? And there was a name on it, which was some other girl's name, But the address was my address, so I couldn't, like, deliver it somewhere else. So I open it, and there's a bag of guinea pig food in there. Mind you, I don't have a guinea pig food. I just have a cat.

00:11:35 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 6:

That sucks, though.

00:11:36 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 2:

Now I have a bag of guinea pig food sitting at my house.

00:11:37 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 6:

Doesn't that suck, though? Because you're like, Mike got a Yeti cooler, and you got guinea pig food.

00:11:43 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 2:

I know. And I can't do anything with it.

00:11:45 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 6:

Like, that's when you know your karma is not as good as somebody else's karma, you know? Right. Yeah. There are just some people. Mike's got all the luck, all the luck, lucky guy.

00:11:56 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 7:

I feel like I should do something with it. You know what I mean? I have one already. Do I like to? Yes.

00:12:02 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 6:

I think your Yeti cooler needs to go on appearances. Maybe this weekend you need to do charitable events and bring people nice cold beverages.

00:12:12 - 00:12:13 | Speaker 7:

Nice cold drinks.

00:12:13 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 6:

And they can fill the money with cooler to donate something. Yeah, right. And we'll donate the money back or something. I don't know. Give it as a gift to somebody. Somebody that's been special in your life.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 7:

Sorry.

00:12:27 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 1:

We know one phone call can ruin your whole day, but not this one. Laugh at the phone scan. It's this morning at 6.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:12:38 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing. I love listening to his show every morning.

00:12:41 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 1:

Now, back to Mojo in the Morning.

00:12:45 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 6:

So Shannon's boyfriend came in the studio yesterday to pick her up because she had her car in the shop.

00:12:55 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 4:

You guys make him so nervous. Can I ask you a question?

00:12:58 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 6:

I actually wondered, was he mad at me or something? Because he seemed like he was a little standoffish.

00:13:04 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 4:

No, he's so nervous.

00:13:06 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 6:

He's nervous?

00:13:07 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:13:07 - 00:13:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay, because I was wondering about this. I thought that was interesting because I thought to myself, I was like, hey, Wes, what's going on? And he kind of looked down, and I was like, oh, okay. So he's kind of getting a little nervous. How could we make somebody nervous?

00:13:23 - 00:13:25 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, because you're not intimidating.

00:13:25 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 5:

Really?

00:13:26 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:13:27 - 00:13:35 | Speaker 5:

I think when people walk in the studio, they essentially get nervous. It's his first time in the studio. It's like being on the stand in court. Wait, has he met your dad?

00:13:35 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 4:

He hasn't met my dad yet. Actually, I was with my dad last night, and we were talking about that, so we made some plans for that to happen.

00:13:40 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 6:

Who will he get more nervous in front of, Tim Murphy, your father, or Mojo, me?

00:13:45 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 4:

Mojo. Really? For sure.

00:13:47 - 00:14:22 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, that's wild. I wondered if I said something on the air, because I think I've been Team Wes talking about how sweet of a guy he is. The only thing I said was the guy's going to go broke if he's buying you all these gifts every time you go out of town and stuff like that, but I thought it was good to meet him. I thought it was interesting, because I said to you in the hallway, as we're walking out, because he's driving you home, I said, oh, you guys going to go on a romantic lunch together? And Shannon goes, no, I've got therapy today. He's dropping me off at therapy. And I thought, the new boyfriend is taking his girlfriend to her therapy appointment.

00:14:22 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 4:

He goes to therapy, too, so it's all good. He gets it.

00:14:25 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 6:

But how funny, would he wait for you in the car? No. I'll see you in a second. We'll be right back. All right, so something very embarrassing happened to you. You've been trying to keep him from seeing something in your house?

00:14:38 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, you know, at the beginning of a relationship, you want to put your best foot forward and hide all of the crazy about yourself. And I didn't even think about this, but he stays over my house, like spends the night every every once in a while. And so I had something in my bathroom that he found that I didn't realize looks.

00:15:00 - 00:16:25 | Speaker 3:

really, really bad if you don't know why I have it. And I think you guys know this because I've talked about it before. I have this stupid, stubborn wart on my left thumb, which yes, it sounds so gross, but okay, real life. It will not go away. I've had the dermatologist freeze it off three times. I've tried to surgically do at-home surgery and get rid of it myself. It will not go away. It keeps coming back. So I went to the dermatologist like two weeks ago and she she ordered me this paste I guess is what it is that I'm supposed to put on it every single day until it peels off and I keep it in a drawer in my bathroom kind of hidden because the instructions are huge and it says hang on I took a picture of it so I could read it to you guys it says apply nightly to warts under occlusion I think that's how you say this word apply nightly to warts under occlusion in like size 20 font right gross human being yeah you know what it is but it doesn't say like warts on your finger it just says warts so he was looking for q-tips and finds this wart cream and he walks out of my bathroom holding it with this like what the f is this look on his face and i'm like it is for my finger it is not for anywhere else on my body i swear to you but i thought to myself i probably should have hidden that

00:16:25 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 4:

where else it's just like a bad look where else would he think that you needed ward cream for

00:16:30 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 3:

well i don't i mean clearly there's nothing going on but it just my vagina is angry it's not it's perfectly happy it's very happy but it didn't specify no because now look at it oh yeah do see what i mean it just looks like a little like a bump but yeah it won't freaking go away the wart

00:16:51 - 00:17:15 | Speaker 4:

shannon's shannon's it's so gross i need i need like what dramatic music we should we should actually uh reese we should do a sitcom or a uh or a horror movie on shannon's wart no that's so gross oh god no how did you get this word how did you get said i have no idea i've had it forever And it won't go away. Why do they say it's not going away? I don't know.

00:17:15 - 00:17:17 | Speaker 3:

Even the doctor doesn't know. So that's why she gave me this stuff.

00:17:17 - 00:17:19 | Speaker 4:

Is it a stress thing or something like that? A stress wart?

00:17:20 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 3:

I don't know.

00:17:23 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 4:

I hate, by the way, when you have like new relationship and you have certain things in your house that you want to hide from them.

00:17:31 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 3:

And you forget to hide them.

00:17:32 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 4:

And you forget to hide them. You know what I mean?

00:17:34 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 3:

And they find them.

00:17:36 - 00:17:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:17:37 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 3:

And have lots of questions.

00:17:39 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 4:

Like, have you had to hide other stuff too? Like, did you hide your toys and things like that?

00:17:43 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

00:17:44 - 00:17:45 | Speaker 4:

So that's all out there?

00:17:46 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I mean.

00:17:47 - 00:17:50 | Speaker 4:

We know he's a snooper because he found your word cream.

00:17:50 - 00:17:53 | Speaker 3:

No, he was legit looking for something. I was standing right there. Like, he wasn't snooping.

00:17:53 - 00:17:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay. But he looked at the bottle and read it and stuff.

00:17:55 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you can't miss it. Look at how big the font is on this thing.

00:17:58 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 4:

I understand, but it took him as a, what did he think? Oh, this might be it. Oh, hold on. Word cream. Yeah, it's gross. What do you have to hide in your house if some guy's coming over? 844-MOJO-LIVE. Did you have to hide anything, Spike, from the new girlfriend? No. You got everything? Everything's okay there? If he does, he's not going to tell you. He's hiding it. No, I have nothing to hide. What about you, Ellen? You have a pretty boring life. Do you have anything, Ellen?

00:18:26 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, of course I do.

00:18:27 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 4:

What do you hide? What's the one thing you don't like?

00:18:29 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 2:

This is like TMI, so sorry in advance. I do not have a time of the month because of the kind of birth control I'm on. Oh, good. I've been sexually active in the last, like, two months. I take a pregnancy test every month To make sure I'm not pregnant Not both but I buy like a stockpile On Amazon and I have a stash of pregnancy tests

00:18:48 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh that's a great one I never thought about something like that

00:18:50 - 00:18:54 | Speaker 4:

So you're afraid that if he sees a bunch of pregnancy tests

00:18:54 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 2:

Or in the garbage that almost happened once

00:18:56 - 00:19:04 | Speaker 4:

That would actually as a guy I would go She must have a lot of guys Coming over here

00:19:04 - 00:19:06 | Speaker 3:

Hence the reason she needs to hide it

00:19:06 - 00:19:21 | Speaker 5:

I do hide something I just realized I hide all the Oreo cookies because I keep complaining that I'm not losing any weight and I'm not working out enough, so I don't want to hear from her that maybe if you didn't eat cookies every night. So it's not as good as a birth control.

00:19:21 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 4:

Come on. There's got to be some stuff in there. Did you not have like a lapse in time where you started before you dated, you went over to Lover's Lane and bought yourself something fun to take care of yourself?

00:19:33 - 00:19:38 | Speaker 5:

No. No. Just take care of yourself with your hand. I don't need to spend money on a toy.

00:19:38 - 00:19:46 | Speaker 4:

He asked! Megan, what do you have in your house, besides your brother that you have to hide?

00:19:46 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, exactly. I think we all know that hot girls have stomach problems, so yes, I have stomach problems. I have an entire shelf dedicated in my medicine cabinet to different types of Pepto-Bismol. I'd be wondering why different types.

00:20:01 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, there's differences for the chewables versus the pills versus the liquids. I don't know if you know this. The liquids turn your teeth and your tongue black. It's not great for a date. Got to have the pills. The chewables do it, too. I know what works, what gas stations to stop at, what convenience stores, fam. If you need Pepto, I got you covered. That's a great one, too. Hide it all.

00:20:20 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 4:

Can I tell you what I hide and my wife knows that I do it?

00:20:22 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 2:

What?

00:20:23 - 00:20:36 | Speaker 4:

Knows that I even do this, but I still hide it because I'm embarrassed. I have, like, beard dye because my beard is turning gray. Really? Yeah. So if you ever see a thick, full beard on me, it's probably because I have just recently dyed it.

00:20:36 - 00:20:39 | Speaker 3:

You do the M&M thing. You make sure it looks good.

00:20:39 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. She likes the salt and pepper, but I don't like it. I'm not there yet, so I've been hiding it.

00:20:44 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 3:

So you've got to hide it from your own wife, of all people.

00:20:47 - 00:20:47 | Speaker 4:

Yep.

00:20:47 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 3:

Where do you have it? Where is it hidden?

00:20:49 - 00:20:54 | Speaker 4:

It's just hidden on a higher shelf because you can't see that high. How do you see that high?

00:20:55 - 00:20:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was going to say, he's got to pull out a lap. What's up, Taylor?

00:20:59 - 00:21:49 | Speaker 1:

yes what's up what do you have to hide if you got somebody coming over so i got a gift of a box of like condoms as a gag gift and i have two toddlers well my toddlers found them and so obviously i lied and i was like oh well they're balloons so they blew them up and like wrote their names on them and they ended up popping and some fell behind my bed well sometime later i started dating a new guy and he was setting up a new bed for me in my bedroom while i was at work and found the condoms and he's like oh my god why do you have all these condoms that kid story is not gonna work yes and so until he saw that there was a name written on the actual condom he probably thought i was some kind of crazy person wait a second mom oh my god mom isn't there like spermicide and

00:21:49 - 00:21:55 | Speaker 3:

stuff on those condoms that your kids are putting their mouth on to blow up yeah well we realized

00:21:55 - 00:22:00 | Speaker 1:

But afterwards, it was so embarrassing that they found them. Like, I just didn't know what to do.

00:22:01 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 6:

How am I supposed to live, laugh, and love in these conditions? This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:22:10 - 00:22:34 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show, your home of the phone scams, War of the Roses, and the Dirty on the 30. Thank you for being here. Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Megan, Mike. so you witnessed somebody having a very bad day yesterday and uh i bet you that this is pretty common when people are going to stores and getting stuff but what happened well i'd love to

00:22:34 - 00:23:24 | Speaker 6:

hear from anyone this happened to because you can't laugh you it's it's something you think oh my gosh but you just immediately put yourself in that situation and you go oh my gosh i went to the apple store yesterday and i got a new iphone while and while i was paying it's like a process You know, when they're checking you out and transferring all your stuff over. We heard a big noise, and a guy was walking out of the store looking at his brand-new iPhone and walked right into a lady's stroller, and we just heard a big smash. His new iPhone shattered on the mall floor. Oh. He literally took one step out of the store, totaled his $1,400 iPhone 13. Oh, my God. The thing is $1,400? The new Max is insane. Holy crap. Yeah, once you add in all the AppleCare and everything, turned right back around, had to go get another new one.

00:23:24 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 3:

Hopefully he bought the plan, right? That's what I was thinking.

00:23:27 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 6:

That was my comment to the employee. I said, I hope he got AppleCare.

00:23:30 - 00:23:37 | Speaker 3:

Megan, didn't we talk about you never buy the Best Buy plan or whatever it is? Never buy it. That would be the one time you would never buy it, right?

00:23:38 - 00:23:45 | Speaker 2:

Right. Have you seen the news story of the first person who bought the iPhone the first day and they opened up the box? Yes. That's what it makes me feel like.

00:23:45 - 00:24:23 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, the news was there to show the very first one being sold, and they're all covering it. The guy opens the box, and he bobbled it, and it just went smash. It was like all these cameras watched him. Poor guy went viral for the wrong reason. Oh, my God. It's as fast as you broke something after buying it. I remember when I was a kid, like, getting a gaming system. I was so excited, and just like, oh, my gosh, finally. All the other kids had one except me, and I was, like, so excited to have it. I rammed that game cartridge into the game upside down and, like, broke all the pins on it, and I was like, oh, immediately the game was rendered useless.

00:24:23 - 00:24:30 | Speaker 3:

Aren't there people where it happens a lot to them where they buy cars and they drive off the lot and get into a car accident? Yeah. Like, right out in front?

00:24:31 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 5:

That happened to you? That happened with my Sorento. I went, when I was, the very second I took it off the lot, I want to say the first week, a rock hit my windshield and smashed the entire thing. I had to take it in.

00:24:44 - 00:24:55 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Yeah. You didn't even get to enjoy it. Uh-uh. You had to have a safe life. Safe life repair. Safe life repair. Yeah.

00:24:55 - 00:24:56 | Speaker 2:

That was so good, Mojo.

00:24:56 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 3:

I should do commercials for those guys. I'll be there.

00:25:00 - 00:25:12 | Speaker 5:

next jingle singer um i uh i feel bad for the the the poor bastards that that happens to you know in any of the cases but you know the people at the store love it right although the iphone

00:25:12 - 00:25:36 | Speaker 6:

one's tough it's tough to get an iphone was it tough for you to get an iphone i got lucky they had one i it wasn't the it was not the third or fourth choice color i was gonna get but it's not bad i was like well i'm gonna put a case on it anyway what color did you have to get i got this it's the blue one oh that's a nice oh that's a nice color yeah it's not bad but it's like I didn't care I just wanted the new phone For the new camera And everything So When I found out They had one I ran to that store So quickly

00:25:36 - 00:25:39 | Speaker 5:

What were the other Choices of colors Why are people Not buying the blue one

00:25:39 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 6:

Well everybody wants The slate or the gray Or the silver Or the You know The basic ones Yeah Like I I mean this is better You are no basic bitch I just want you to know that Yeah I'm not getting Like the rose gold Or something

00:25:49 - 00:25:51 | Speaker 1:

That phone is kind of chunky

00:25:51 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 6:

That phone His phone is Yeah Spike is Really Same thickness as the old one

00:25:56 - 00:25:56 | Speaker 1:

Is it

00:25:56 - 00:26:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah It's just flatter, the bevel, the screen goes right to the edge, so it's flat, it's not as curved on the edges now. Okay, all right.

00:26:03 - 00:26:05 | Speaker 5:

What do you have?

00:26:05 - 00:26:06 | Speaker 1:

I don't even know.

00:26:09 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 6:

Megan's got the Motorola Razr flip phone.

00:26:10 - 00:26:14 | Speaker 1:

It's so old. No, your phone looks bigger than his phone.

00:26:14 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 5:

She's got the Mac. His phone is that, your phone looks like, you're carrying an iPad in your pocket.

00:26:20 - 00:26:20 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:26:21 - 00:26:22 | Speaker 5:

That's what it looks like.

00:26:22 - 00:26:27 | Speaker 1:

And I love, because I watch so much television on my phone. On your phone? It's not a joke. I watch an obscene amount of television on my phone.

00:26:27 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 6:

Well, shout out to Ross and everybody that works at the Somerstead store because they're all huge fans and listeners.

00:26:32 - 00:26:34 | Speaker 5:

Is that how you got it? Shout out to Ross.

00:26:34 - 00:26:35 | Speaker 6:

He's a really great guy.

00:26:37 - 00:26:41 | Speaker 5:

And by the way, just so you know, if you want to get AirPods by Christmas.

00:26:41 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 1:

Ross was like, I got a blue if you give me a shout out.

00:26:45 - 00:26:46 | Speaker 6:

No, I don't think he cares.

00:26:47 - 00:26:57 | Speaker 5:

Kelsey, hi. Kels, how you doing? Kelsey She needs the new iPhone Somebody call

00:26:57 - 00:27:02 | Speaker 6:

I was going to trade in my 11 But do you want it? I'll give it to you What's going on?

00:27:04 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 3:

I ended up having to get a new car And within four months Someone hit me and completely totaled it And I got a new car And within two months after that one A rock slipped someone else's car And I had to replace my entire windshield

00:27:18 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god Oh, so the same thing that happened to Mike.

00:27:23 - 00:27:23 | Speaker 3:

Not fun.

00:27:24 - 00:27:31 | Speaker 5:

Oh, jeez. What's up? Listener Megan, how are you? Good. How are you? Fantastic. What's going on?

00:27:32 - 00:27:41 | Speaker 4:

So, yeah, I got my car January 7th and then drove it home. And on my way to work, I got into an accident and smashed up the front end.

00:27:42 - 00:27:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, jeez.

00:27:43 - 00:27:45 | Speaker 4:

Within 12 hours of driving it off the lot, brand new.

00:27:46 - 00:27:48 | Speaker 5:

God, was it your fault or was it their fault?

00:27:48 - 00:28:01 | Speaker 4:

um it may or may not have been my fault okay looking at all the new nabs and then just totally like yeah at the last second ever there was all kinds of traffic that stopped quickly and

00:28:01 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 5:

i did not uh all right so here's my question how quick did you go back into the dealership and tell them that this happened or were you like right close to where they could see everything

00:28:11 - 00:28:28 | Speaker 4:

no this is like it's the following morning like i drove at home from work and then i was on my way into work the next morning and then yeah so when you went did you go back to the same salesperson the salesperson get a get another deal oh no i mean it was just an actual like it well oh so

00:28:28 - 00:28:42 | Speaker 5:

it didn't total it okay i don't know i'm i know i'm my head i'm thinking total i think it's because i got car sales people in my my family my father-in-law my father-in-law would have been sitting there licking his chops waiting for you to come back in love that he would love it joe

00:28:42 - 00:28:44 | Speaker 6:

The depreciation right away.

00:28:44 - 00:28:46 | Speaker 5:

Joe would have been going, oh, you know what?

00:28:46 - 00:28:51 | Speaker 6:

We just so happen to have our state-of-the-art body shop. Would love to meet you.

00:28:51 - 00:28:52 | Speaker 5:

Deanna.

00:28:53 - 00:28:53 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

00:28:53 - 00:28:54 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

00:28:56 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 2:

So my very first iPhone way back when, I put it in my back pocket by accident and dropped it immediately in the toilet.

00:29:04 - 00:29:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Oh, man. Did you have the AppleCare with Loss?

00:29:08 - 00:29:11 | Speaker 2:

That was before you could get AppleCare on the iPhone.

00:29:11 - 00:29:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. There it goes.

00:29:12 - 00:29:36 | Speaker 5:

yeah that was that was a mistake i will never do again yeah i there i all the times i will have my phone in my pocket and i'll be sitting down to go to the bathroom and then i'll pull up my pants and i pull up my pants my phone starts coming out i am like always petrified of that now so now yeah so now i balance it in my underwear hammock that i have there

00:29:36 - 00:29:40 | Speaker 1:

So your phone smells like balls

00:29:40 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 5:

Is what you're saying Kind of Don't ever use my phone Would you like to see what phone I have

00:29:47 - 00:29:47 | Speaker 4:

No thank you

00:29:47 - 00:29:50 | Speaker 5:

What's up Brittany

00:29:50 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 4:

So my husband bought me one of the Note phones I think it was like an 8 or something And the back of it was glass And maybe 6 hours later I walked to my cousin's house

00:30:00 - 00:30:03 | Speaker 1:

A few doors down, and it falls out of my pocket, and the back of it just shatters.

00:30:04 - 00:30:05 | Speaker 4:

Oh, jeez.

00:30:06 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my husband was not happy.

00:30:08 - 00:30:10 | Speaker 4:

So did you have to get another one?

00:30:11 - 00:30:20 | Speaker 1:

I didn't. I just had to deal with it because I didn't have insurance on it. I hadn't even bought a case for it yet. So I just dealt with it. It worked. It was the back of the phone. I don't know why they make them glass.

00:30:20 - 00:30:23 | Speaker 4:

I think we figured out how much your husband loves you.

00:30:23 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. By the way, we know why they make them glass. Yeah. For you. For you to have to go out and buy a new one.

00:30:29 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 1:

Well, I get one every year anyway. I break it somehow.

00:30:32 - 00:30:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, gosh. Well, thank you for the call on your phone. It doesn't sound any different, so it sounds good.

00:30:39 - 00:30:42 | Speaker 1:

I switched the iPhone. This one's been okay so far.

00:30:42 - 00:30:43 | Speaker 5:

Good. Take care of yourself. Have a great day.

00:30:44 - 00:30:45 | Speaker 1:

Bye. You too. Bye.

00:30:46 - 00:30:51 | Speaker 2:

Straddling the line between perfection and just getting by. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:30:52 - 00:30:54 | Speaker 1:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:30:55 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 2:

Call Mojo in the Morning. 844-MOJO-LIVE. It's 844-665-6548.

00:31:01 - 00:31:12 | Speaker 5:

It's good having Megan in this morning with us hanging out. She has vacation time that she did not use this year. And how many days consecutive vacation time do you have?

00:31:13 - 00:31:16 | Speaker 3:

Technically, I think it was like 33 days.

00:31:16 - 00:31:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. But we made a little promise to each other. We are going to spread that out. And if anybody says you can't take vacation time, like the bosses say that you can't, I will go down and strangle them.

00:31:27 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thanks.

00:31:29 - 00:31:30 | Speaker 5:

Yes, bodily harm to your bosses.

00:31:30 - 00:31:31 | Speaker 3:

I really appreciate that.

00:31:31 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 5:

In Toledo, if that doesn't happen.

00:31:32 - 00:31:37 | Speaker 3:

I love that you said that on a public setting, so it can be used against me in a court of law.

00:31:37 - 00:31:55 | Speaker 5:

No, it'll be used against me, but I'm fine with that. I'm okay with that. But, yeah, people were all wondering where Megan was all throughout this last four days because they didn't hear her voices. Her voices. The voices in her head. Yeah. So what have you been doing? Anything fun?

00:31:55 - 00:32:10 | Speaker 3:

I don't mean to brag, but I did spend about eight hours yesterday replicating my house in The Sims 4. And I feel very accomplished. And I tell you, I almost tweeted out the link so other people could see it because I was very proud of it. I was very proud of it.

00:32:10 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 4:

You know, my daughter was just telling me she had problems with her laptop and she might need a new one. And it's not compatible for her work right now. And I was going crazy for a whole weekend trying to update her OS and see if I could get her a new device. device and i finally figured out she wasn't doing any midterm work she was doing sims yeah it's so

00:32:28 - 00:32:34 | Speaker 3:

like i started at 10 a.m yesterday and i swear to god i looked up and the sun was down and i went

00:32:34 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 5:

where is my day going went into sims 4 for those for people that don't know what that is which i

00:32:39 - 00:32:45 | Speaker 3:

don't uh do that at all but what is it it's a it's a video game where essentially you are god

00:32:45 - 00:32:51 | Speaker 4:

and you get to decide and you can play in your home well you don't even play mojo you're just

00:32:51 - 00:32:54 | Speaker 3:

It's creating a fake house and fake life.

00:32:54 - 00:32:56 | Speaker 5:

It's basically like people that have bitmojis.

00:32:57 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 3:

No, it's like better than that. I don't like the judgment I'm getting from the guys. It's like a Tamagotchi. I need some girl to please call in and do anything with me.

00:33:05 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 4:

You're like picking what outfit your fake little Sims Megan's going to wear.

00:33:09 - 00:33:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but you have a summer outfit and a winter outfit, and you have the pool outfit, the party outfit.

00:33:14 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 4:

You decorate a house that nobody's going to see that has nothing to do with anything.

00:33:17 - 00:33:22 | Speaker 3:

So normally you just play in a random house, but I spent eight hours building my house.

00:33:22 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 5:

Quick question for you, and I'm not judging with this question.

00:33:24 - 00:33:25 | Speaker 3:

Yes, you are.

00:33:26 - 00:33:34 | Speaker 5:

Have you cleaned your house this entire week? So you spent the entire time just setting up your Sims house.

00:33:34 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 3:

Well, doing that and peeing my pants. Peeing your pants? Those are the two things that I've done, and I'm kind of pissed about the peeing my pants thing, if I'm being honest.

00:33:42 - 00:33:43 | Speaker 5:

How did you pee your pants?

00:33:44 - 00:34:09 | Speaker 3:

So you can't judge me for this one, But my neighbors put a motion sensor light on their garage And it is blindingly bright Now, it's always had a light But they've definitely put a new bulb in it And the sensor is a little bit more sensitive than it used to be And I was taking my dog out to pee And she triggered the neighbor's light And it flashed so bright at me that I genuinely I thought it was the cops in my backyard

00:34:09 - 00:34:12 | Speaker 5:

You thought that they were shining a flashlight at you?

00:34:12 - 00:34:19 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like a flashlight Like somebody was in my backyard I heard something was going wrong, and I peed myself just a little bit. It was just a schmitch.

00:34:22 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 5:

Don't you hate when that happens, by the way? Because you at least are home. But it's happened to me before where you pee, and then you've got to be out, and you've got to try to figure out if you're going to stay in that pee.

00:34:32 - 00:34:41 | Speaker 3:

I was so mad because I legitimately thought I have not had children. This isn't supposed to be happening to me. That thought crossed my mind.

00:34:41 - 00:34:49 | Speaker 5:

Hold on. Marcy is on with us right now. Marcy, what's up? hey good morning guys good morning what's going on what are you calling for

00:34:49 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 1:

um so i was calling to help megan out so the sims is short for stimulation so it's like a simulation of uh you can make lives you can make houses yeah do whatever you want

00:35:00 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:35:00 - 00:35:01 | Speaker 5:

And it's good, right?

00:35:01 - 00:35:08 | Speaker 4:

So Megan's on vacation, and this is what she spent the last four days doing is creating a Sim. Do you do it, too, Marcy?

00:35:08 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 5:

I use my vacation days for that, too, so.

00:35:11 - 00:35:15 | Speaker 4:

But you never play? There's, like, no game that you're playing the whole time?

00:35:15 - 00:35:22 | Speaker 3:

No, there are challenges. Like, there's, like, different challenges that the Sims have now set up and push on their game. But, like, there's the 100 baby challenge.

00:35:23 - 00:35:26 | Speaker 4:

But you're not playing against other people, right?

00:35:26 - 00:35:29 | Speaker 3:

No, but it is fun to find different ways to kill your Sims.

00:35:29 - 00:35:40 | Speaker 4:

By the way, just so you know, Megan didn't come to our holiday lunch, just so everybody knows this. She was making her Sims. That's what she was doing. She was very busy making her Sims. What's going on, Emily?

00:35:41 - 00:35:45 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Megan, I love playing the Sims. I'm 35, and I still play it.

00:35:46 - 00:35:48 | Speaker 4:

You guys can relate together, huh?

00:35:48 - 00:35:52 | Speaker 3:

Do you want to play in my house? Should I upload the links so that people can see what my house looks like?

00:35:52 - 00:35:55 | Speaker 4:

So is it legit looking like your house?

00:35:55 - 00:36:06 | Speaker 3:

It legit started out as a replica of my house And then I got very depressed at how bad my house is And how ugly it is So I revamped it a little bit We did a kitchen remodel

00:36:06 - 00:36:09 | Speaker 4:

Is it just the inside of the house Or do you do the outside too

00:36:09 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 3:

I did the whole thing

00:36:10 - 00:36:11 | Speaker 5:

What is my life

00:36:11 - 00:36:15 | Speaker 4:

What's that, I'm sorry, Emily

00:36:15 - 00:36:19 | Speaker 5:

I do the windows, the curtains, everything I go with the whole nine yards

00:36:19 - 00:36:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh my gosh Which house looks better, your Sims house or your real house

00:36:23 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my Sims house, for sure

00:36:25 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 4:

Sim's house is much better.

00:36:26 - 00:36:31 | Speaker 1:

So question, are there porch pirates stealing your Amazon packages on your fake Sim's house or just in real life? No.

00:36:32 - 00:36:45 | Speaker 4:

Actually, do you have the neighbor's spotlight that's going off on that Sim's house? Do you, because I always joked when people were doing those bitmoji things. Yeah. Or, you know, none of them look like the person. You know what I mean?

00:36:45 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. My Sims look way hotter than I am. It looks better? Are you kidding me? Okay. Yeah.

00:36:49 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 4:

Because I made fun of your boyfriend, Steve Gabara, from Zot Ford with his, because his looks like uh grew from the incredible and i'm like that is not you steve that's uncle fester from the adams family um what's going on melissa hi hi good morning um i was just

00:37:13 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 6:

calling for support like she asked and yeah sims has been around since like i was in high school I'm 31 now, and I would play it when I was, you know, 16, 17 years old, too. I would totally play it again right now.

00:37:26 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 4:

You guys sound like you're going to have a lot of fun talking to each other today.

00:37:29 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 3:

These guys think they're so much better than us because they don't know about the hymns.

00:37:33 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 4:

Look, I play video games, but I play with other people.

00:37:36 - 00:37:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh, good for you.

00:37:40 - 00:37:47 | Speaker 1:

Have you met Megan? So stupid. She's all panic and no disco. This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:37:48 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 4:

All right, we're going to do a phone scam here on the Mojo in the Morning show. We are going to call a pet store to see if they sell food for a new animal in our house. Spike now has a pet penguin that he stole from the zoo. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

00:38:05 - 00:38:15 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:17 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

Thank you for coming. Hello? Hello? Hi, it's Alice. Hi. What time do you open?

00:38:24 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 7:

We're open from 10 to 6.

00:38:26 - 00:38:35 | Speaker 2:

Okay. And what do you feed a penguin? A penguin? Yes. I need to purchase some food for aquatic birds. Can you put some aside for me?

00:38:36 - 00:38:42 | Speaker 7:

I don't think... I think I'll have to order you something for aquatic birds. That's so caring.

00:38:42 - 00:38:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh, dear. Okay. My son stole... He took a penguin from the zoo as a prank, and I'm going to take it back to them, but they're closed today.

00:38:52 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

00:38:53 - 00:38:57 | Speaker 2:

I opened his backpack, and his little head pops out. He's got a friend.

00:38:58 - 00:38:58 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh.

00:38:58 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so I'm just trying to find a place that has food. You know what I'm saying?

00:39:02 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. Have you been online to see? There may be something you can get at the grocery store.

00:39:07 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 2:

I Googled her, you know, the penguin, because it was difficult to get the thing on its back so we could check to see if it was a boy or a girl penguin, but it's a girl. Cute little bugger. I Googled her, and she's a juvenile, black-footed penguin. Beautiful creature. So I look it up, and it said, you know, obviously they have a special diet and everything.

00:39:28 - 00:39:31 | Speaker 7:

I have no idea where you would buy food for something like that.

00:39:31 - 00:39:52 | Speaker 2:

I know. He's not right in the head, my Dylan. Oh, my gosh. Oh, you should see me going crazy. I mean, I could use a little help. There's a flightless bird in my living room. Oh, my gosh. Bless your heart. Yes, we named her Sydney. Oh. So what I did is I filled the bathtub with ice water and make her feel at home, and then I'm just trying to find some food.

00:39:52 - 00:39:58 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. I wonder if there's a number you could call at the zoo. I'll bet somebody would need you.

00:39:58 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, oh, I see.

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 3:

Like an emergency number.

00:40:01 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:40:02 - 00:40:08 | Speaker 3:

Because I tried emailing, and the thing doesn't, you know, it's about tickets, it's about this and that and everything except the penguins.

00:40:09 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, they've got to have some kind of emergency number. Right?

00:40:13 - 00:40:24 | Speaker 3:

I know. It's the weirdest thing when you think about it. You know, one day Sydney's waddling around Antarctica, and next thing you know, a year or two later, she's in the basement in the suburbs getting taught how to play Call of Duty by my Dylan.

00:40:24 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. I would try calling the zoo and call 911.

00:40:30 - 00:40:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, 911?

00:40:32 - 00:40:34 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they need to get it back.

00:40:34 - 00:40:59 | Speaker 3:

You'll feel horrible. Oh, God, no. She's pulling down the curtains. Look at her. Dylan, get her away from the cat. This is crazy. Oh, bless your heart. I did not sign up for this. Oh, I got to go. She's eating the remote. For the love of Samuel L. Jackson. Dylan, listen, can you call someone for me? Okay. Can you call the Mojo in the morning show? Because this is Spike and you've just been the victim of a phone scam.

00:41:03 - 00:41:56 | Speaker 2:

No time for me. There's your bless your heart. Exactly. We will, we will scam you. Yep, go ahead and laugh. You might be next. It's the home of the world famous phone scams. mojo in the morning mojo in the morning show channel 955 in detroit 104.5 snx in grand rapids and 92.5 kiss fm in toledo hello to all little roll call real quick say here if you're here spike Here. Reese?

00:42:06 - 00:42:07 | Speaker 3:

I saw him. He's in the audio studio.

00:42:08 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, he's got to yell here. He's got to. Come on, Reese.

00:42:11 - 00:42:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't know if he knows which button to press.

00:42:13 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 2:

Then have him scream so that you can push it through yours. Go ahead. Tell him to scream. Here. Ah, there he is. Lydia?

00:42:19 - 00:42:20 | Unknown:

She's here.

00:42:20 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, did she go to do something for you? She's not there, does she? Okay. No, that was Lydia. That was Lydia. Oh, that was her. Oh, I thought you said she's here. She's here. You refer to yourself as she. She's here. Okay, all right. Just making sure. It's good to have everybody here. Listeners here, are you screaming in your car or wherever you're listening to us? So yesterday I grabbed lunch with, I won't say his name because of the situation. It was weird, but I grabbed lunch at my favorite, Steve's Deli. I love going to that place. That's kind of like my go-to. But grabbed lunch with a guy who he is broken up. He was not married, but he was broken up with a girl that he dated for some time. And we're eating. And we're actually talking about the breakup because I had not seen him since their split. And we're talking and we're talking and talking. And he goes, oh, my God. And I go, what? She's over there. and let me just say this to you how funny it was i thought he was joking so i go oh you're so full of crap and i kept talking and kept saying something he's like shh and keep it down she was with a guy and we can only imagine that because she also does like sales she does like medical sales and so she was with a guy we thought it was a date or possibly a business thing And I guess she recognized him earlier because at the end of the date, he actually went up and said something to her. And she could have heard our entire conversation that we were having with each other because she was as close as we all are right now. The only thing is it's kind of a little bit loud. So, you know, you never know if people can hear you or not. But I always believe that people have that the X-ray ears.

00:44:14 - 00:44:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, they can hear what you don't want them to hear.

00:44:16 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Right, especially when you just recently went through a breakup and you noticed that your significant other, your former significant other is there. It was so funny. He was smiling, and then he started waving at her. It made it kind of uncomfortable. And they have a decent relationship now, like a post-date relationship. But I thought about this when it happened. What was the awkward run-in that you had with the ex? Have you ever seen the ex in an awkward place after you guys broke up with each other or, you know, got divorced or split up or whatever it is? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Where did it take you?

00:45:00 - 00:45:56 | Speaker 1:

Because I know of times where people will actually split up and they will all go to the same places all the time. Like that was one of their favorite places to eat. So they would go there and eat. Or they shop at the same, you know, Meijer or Kroger or whatever grocery store you go to. And then they run into each other at the grocery store. And I always say that with splits or divorces, there has to be a custody battle with their favorite places. Like, you're not allowed to ever go to this place ever again, and I'll get to, you know, you keep this, I keep this, kind of like split that whole thing up. It was so funny. It was really, really funny. And I know that there are There are situations Where you don't necessarily Want to see an ex But I think that there are situations Where you definitely want to see an ex Like I want them to see me Living my best life

00:45:56 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah like if you're all dressed up And looking happy or whatever You want to run into him

00:46:01 - 00:46:10 | Speaker 1:

Well first off it's funny Because he was looking He was looking good yesterday Because he had like some big meeting That was going on in the afternoon So he was like all dressed up

00:46:10 - 00:46:11 | Speaker 4:

So he was happy about it

00:46:11 - 00:46:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh he was so happy about it Dude, he was like, or do I just call you dude? Dude. Dude.

00:46:16 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 4:

Everybody's a dude. Boy, girl, young, old, you're dude. Yeah, you're dude. I call everybody dude.

00:46:21 - 00:46:31 | Speaker 1:

He was smiling and waving at one point once they realized that they both knew that they were there. Awkward place that you ran into the ex, Jamie?

00:46:33 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I am a labor and delivery nurse, and I delivered my ex's baby.

00:46:38 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. I don't think anybody can top that one That's unbelievable

00:46:43 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 4:

You want to know something? The same thing happened to me I have something to top it I have something to top it though

00:46:49 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 1:

What topped it?

00:46:49 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 5:

It was with my cousin

00:46:50 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 1:

He split up and it was with your cousin?

00:46:56 - 00:46:57 | Speaker 5:

My third cousin, yeah

00:46:57 - 00:47:01 | Speaker 8:

Now was that just a scheduling miracle Or did you know they were coming in?

00:47:03 - 00:47:05 | Speaker 5:

No, I did not know they were coming in

00:47:05 - 00:47:23 | Speaker 1:

Amazing But you knew that obviously your cousin and your ex were together yes yes okay was your cousin the reason why you call him an ex no no they got together probably like a year after we broke up okay shannon what was yours you were saying i've talked about this

00:47:23 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 4:

before so when i had smith um it wasn't in the delivery room but it was in the room that they moved me to right afterward i was trying to figure out you know like relearn how to breastfeed with the new baby um and the nurse that walked in was the girl that andrew dated right before me

00:47:38 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 3:

And she was so sweet, but I'm like, really? I look like holy hell, and you're, like, gorgeous, and this sucks so bad.

00:47:46 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 1:

Was there any lingering conversations in the hallway at all? What's going on, Todd?

00:47:52 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 2:

Hey, how you doing today?

00:47:54 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 1:

We're good, man. The awkward run-in with the ex.

00:47:58 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, mine is I moved away out of state from my divorce. After that, I took a job out of state. came back started a new job back in here in ohio and there she was on day shift at your at your

00:48:15 - 00:48:34 | Speaker 1:

work yeah yeah you guys worked at the same place and you guys had no idea yeah we're still working at the same place but i'm on another shift now oh my gosh you guys take the same breaks if you guys if you guys work when you guys did have the same time with each other did you guys ever take breaks

00:48:34 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 2:

at the same time yeah most of the time it was in passing though wow ella what where was the

00:48:42 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 6:

awkward meeting with the ex um in the apartment complex deck because when we broke up he moved out of our apartment into the building right in front of mine he stayed in the same complex oh my god who's prettier yeah uh no i didn't do that actually my friends were trying to compare and i was like no i feel bad for her she doesn't know what it's like to date him for that long

00:49:16 - 00:49:21 | Speaker 1:

uh amanda where was the awkward meeting with the ex

00:49:21 - 00:49:44 | Speaker 7:

so i was we broke up because we were high school sweethearts and i was coming out of i think it was like rue 21 at the time or something and he was with his new baby mama we were together for three years and he broke up with me he pretty much ghosted me before ghosting was even a thing i ran into him and his new baby mama at the mall two months after we

00:49:44 - 00:49:55 | Speaker 1:

broke up yeah at the mall man now when you ran into him because i was saying this like my buddy He was looking good yesterday. Were you looking good when you ran into them outside of Rue 21?

00:49:56 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 7:

Oh, probably not. Honestly, my friend called me, and she was like,

00:50:00 - 00:50:11 | Speaker 3:

hey, like, let's go to the mall to kind of, like, get you out of the house. Like, you guys just broke up, like, whatever. And I literally dipped into, like, a candle store so fast because we made eye contact and everything.

00:50:12 - 00:50:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. You know how they always say that you will run into people that you know at a couple of places, weddings and funerals. Well, I've got both of those calls coming up here right now. First, Zach, where did you run into your ex?

00:50:25 - 00:50:48 | Speaker 5:

I ran into her at a friend's funeral. I didn't even think she was close to him, actually. But, no, he died about a year ago, and I was real close with him. And he, you know, I had showed up to his showing, and it hit me so bad I had to leave, and I had kind of ran into her on my way walking out.

00:50:48 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. You know, maybe she showed up because she knew you would be there.

00:50:54 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, did you think about that? Possibly, yeah. Yeah. No, but possibly, yes.

00:50:58 - 00:50:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she was kind of...

00:50:59 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I didn't think about that at all.

00:51:01 - 00:51:07 | Speaker 2:

She's playing you, and I just had to tell you that. I'm sorry about that. That was the funeral. Lisa, yours was?

00:51:09 - 00:52:04 | Speaker 3:

So this was a long time ago, because I've been married now for almost 25 years, and I dated a guy in my late teens, and we dated for a couple years. And on my wedding day, we were coming out of the church, and in this church it had these really cool stairs in the front so we were all posing for pictures in the stair on the stairs and i look across the street and he is sitting in his pickup truck across the road watching us get our pictures oh my god that's really creepy and i showed my husband i was like oh my god can you see him over there he's sitting over there just watching us and i think once he realized that we noticed him that's when he left but How weird is that? I would be so freaked out Like I said It'll be 25 years that we've been married This fall and I still remember that And I'm like wow you are a freak show

00:52:04 - 00:52:10 | Speaker 1:

That's what you have Groomsmen for you send a best man And all his buds over there to have a talk

00:52:10 - 00:52:12 | Speaker 2:

Hey what's happening Regina?

00:52:13 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi

00:52:14 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 2:

Hey where did you run into your ex?

00:52:17 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 4:

So I'm a teacher And my ex came to pick up his new girlfriend's kid from school and she's actually in my class oh my gosh

00:52:27 - 00:52:35 | Speaker 2:

that's really awkward and you had no idea that this kid's mom was dating your ex even though

00:52:35 - 00:52:41 | Speaker 4:

he was dating anybody else considering we just broke up four months ago did you fail the kid

00:52:41 - 00:52:54 | Speaker 2:

no oh i'm just wondering okay all right um megan this is actually pretty funny wrap it up with this one we're talking about uh strange places that you ran into your ex where did you run into

00:52:54 - 00:53:17 | Speaker 3:

your ex um at the movie the breakup i was with my sister of all people and that was embarrassing and he was with his new girlfriend that was fun wait so who were you with again i was with my sister we went to the movie and in the movie i saw that my ex recent very recent ex was with a new girl he was dating at the breakup geez wait so that was a moment were you bummed that you're

00:53:17 - 00:53:21 | Speaker 2:

with your sister, or did you guys sit there the whole time and just talk crap about them?

00:53:22 - 00:53:27 | Speaker 3:

I was kind of bummed. I wasn't on a date, for sure, but it was pretty funny to laugh with my sister about it, for sure.

00:53:27 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the thing. When you bump into them, you want to be at your best, you know? You want to be looking the best. You want to be with somebody else, you know? You don't want to bump into them hanging out with your sister at a movie.

00:53:38 - 00:53:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, very much so, but that's okay. It all worked out.

00:53:41 - 00:53:51 | Speaker 2:

Good. Thank you for the call. When you give up dating, how does it work? Do you go to the shelter or do the cast just show up at your house asking for a friend?

00:53:51 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Ladies and gentlemen, Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning.

00:53:59 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 2:

And now, back to Mojo in the Morning. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. So, Reese, our director of social impact, is up to some shenanigans.

00:54:10 - 00:54:11 | Speaker 1:

I'm up to something.

00:54:11 - 00:54:13 | Speaker 2:

You are up to something, Reese.

00:54:13 - 00:54:14 | Speaker 1:

Yep, you know me.

00:54:14 - 00:54:23 | Speaker 2:

And he wants to tell the person that he played the trick on live on the radio about it.

00:54:23 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 1:

I think it's officially time that she knows.

00:54:25 - 00:54:27 | Speaker 2:

Who would you like to come in the studio right now?

00:54:28 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 1:

Lydia, if you would be so kind.

00:54:30 - 00:54:37 | Speaker 2:

Associate producer, Lydia. She's the nicest human being in the entire world. How could you do this, Reese?

00:54:37 - 00:54:41 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Lydia? Looking great today, as per usual.

00:54:41 - 00:54:50 | Speaker 2:

So, Lydia, do you have any idea what this... By the way, first off, before we get into that, Lydia, how did last week go? I know it was finals week for you, right?

00:54:51 - 00:54:57 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was actually awful. I was on a film site yesterday for 13 hours finishing my capstone course, so...

00:54:57 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 2:

Really? You go to Wayne State?

00:54:59 - 00:55:15 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And so all last week, you know, you had to take some time away from the show and from the station because you were you were doing what you were doing for the school. But this is it, though, right? Good. Give it up for her. That's unbelievable. I'm so proud of you. Now back to Reese's shenanigans.

00:55:15 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 2:

So the other day I'm walking out of work and I'm feeling the inner seven year old within me.

00:55:25 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I know what you did. i know what you did so she's pointing by the way she's giving him the finger in here i find myself

00:55:34 - 00:55:53 | Speaker 2:

behind lydia's car with one of those car sharpies and i don't know what came into me and made me write this but all of a sudden i wrote honk it's my birthday but low enough where lydia would never see it so i was hoping that maybe within the last week or so she was driving around and got a couple

00:55:53 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 1:

honks i did i was leaving school and there was people honking at me and i was like what is going on i looked at my rearview mirror i was like something has to be going on and i see honk it's my birthday i immediately flipped on like the back windshield wiper so it would go away i was like who did this i was like reese it had to be reese and it was not your well it was your

00:56:14 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 3:

birthday but it's not been your birthday recently no no so i'm gonna go go go come on reese sing

00:56:21 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 2:

to our 20th anniversary go lydia it's not your birthday but i still wrote something on your

00:56:27 - 00:56:49 | Speaker 3:

back car window hey i like that that's awesome um yo yo yo yo you know what's funny is that he can get away with it though can't he yeah guys like him can get away with it because he's so innocent and kind but deep down inside oh he's evil you think he's not evil he's just a 10 year old boy

00:56:49 - 00:56:51 | Speaker 4:

He's evil. Why? Look at that guy.

00:56:52 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 2:

Look at the evil in those eyes. I could never describe Reese as evil. Thank you, Shannon. He's too sweet. He's too cute. Wait, wait. KP, come on.

00:56:59 - 00:57:08 | Speaker 3:

Wait till you see what he writes on the rest of our cars later today. And it won't just be in the dirtiness of the car window. Who knows?

00:57:08 - 00:57:13 | Speaker 1:

You still can see the fade on my back window that says birthday. All it does is just say birthday.

00:57:13 - 00:58:04 | Speaker 4:

When I was in high school, and I don't know why in God's name I did this, But I had a Toyota Celica convertible, and it had like a plastic back window, right? Like with a top. And in that paint that you can paint on cars with, I wrote, I want to be sexy. You wrote that on your own window? I have no idea why. Like seniors, there had to be some sort of inside joke, right? So seniors, you know, everybody paints their car at the end of the year. Well, I'm an idiot, and I didn't wash it off right away. So the paint baked in the sun in this back plastic window. And then when I washed the paint off, it was indented in my window. And my mom's like, unless you can pay for it, that's how you're driving around. So I went to college with it like that. It was so embarrassing. People all looking at you like, oh, look at this. That was permanently written on my car.

00:58:04 - 00:58:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. By the way, it's funny how some people can get away with little pranks like this. And Lydia, at all, did you think it was him? Or who did you think it was?

00:58:13 - 00:58:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I knew it was him right away. I was like, there's no way anyone else put this on my back window.

00:58:17 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 3:

Reese gets away with this stuff because he's got that sweet demeanor to him, though, you know? You think? Yeah. Like, if that were, say, Spike that did that to you, Lydia, you'd be mother-effing that guy, wouldn't you?

00:58:29 - 00:58:42 | Speaker 1:

No, I don't think so. But I don't think I would. Maybe. Maybe. This is how you fix it. You just got to do, it's my birthday, and then her Venmo, then people will Venmo her. Oh, my God.

00:58:43 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:58:43 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 3:

do you think anybody would that's actually a great idea let's do it let's just do it on all of our cars see who gets the most the most notice I survive finals week Venmo buy me a drink Reese is the guy that I'm telling you you will drive a truck one day with those little nut sacks right there where they hit you won't you you know those guys that drive around with those whole things or do you have why do you guys have those by the way

00:59:12 - 00:59:14 | Speaker 4:

I could not figure out why.

00:59:14 - 00:59:31 | Speaker 3:

Or a Calvin. You'll have a Calvin peeing on something. Peeing on your family. Yeah. And we'll get away with that. I think that's cute. That's funny. My favorite, though, is when Reese came in, he goes, I want to bring this up on the air but surprise her with it.

00:59:33 - 00:59:34 | Speaker 2:

As if she didn't already know.

00:59:35 - 00:59:38 | Speaker 1:

You know what's crazy is I never even said anything to you about it. I would just let it go.

00:59:38 - 00:59:39 | Speaker 2:

I know you kept that really low-key.

00:59:40 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:59:40 - 00:59:51 | Speaker 3:

we were talking about stress in in you know earlier this hour we're talking about how crazy it's been you with your you know uh exams and your projects and stuff that you've done

00:59:51 - 01:00:25 | Speaker 1:

you've handled it pretty well honestly i've been having mental breakdowns so i'm not gonna lie it's been really tough it is it's tough but shout out to everyone who's working so hard in school it really is tough and going to work full-time like your hours are ridiculous yeah i'm usually here before school and then i come in sometimes after school or i'll you know come in on the weekends just to finish up some work what are you gonna do to celebrate i might have a little party i'm having a girls party girls only party as the girls on the show now but i might also do something else wait a second are you just saying that because your dad

01:00:25 - 01:00:30 | Speaker 3:

doesn't let you have the guys all over and you have to sneak them in.

01:00:30 - 01:00:33 | Speaker 4:

See, this is why it's a girl's party, Mojo. You can't even be trusted with anything.

01:00:35 - 01:00:47 | Speaker 3:

I just love that. My favorite with you is, we talked about this before on the show, is that your mom actually loves how much you work your butt off. And I know your dad does too, but you have to hide everything around your poor dad.

01:00:47 - 01:00:55 | Speaker 1:

I know. It has to be hidden until I can get married and someone else can quote-unquote take care of me. You know the Chaldean mentality.

01:00:56 - 01:00:59 | Speaker 3:

What would your dad do if you married Reese?

01:01:00 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. Maybe he'd be happy. He'd be honored. And so would I. He'd be happy.

01:01:05 - 01:01:28 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine, though? I can imagine. I would love to see what your dad's reaction would be. Because your dad met him already, right? He's met him before at our... He almost broke my arm when he gave me a handshake. I'm not going to lie. Really? Do you think that's how you do it? Wait a second. That's how you do it. Yeah. Do you think that was Lydia's dad's way of saying, don't F with my daughter at all? Yes, 100%.

01:01:28 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 1:

Or do you think that was him giving you his blessing?

01:01:31 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. You guys have never gone out, right?

01:01:35 - 01:01:35 | Speaker 1:

No.

01:01:36 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Okay. Totally just friends. Yeah.

01:01:38 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 4:

Well, Reese is so shy, I figure he won't ask. Maybe he'll write it on your windshield. I could do that.

01:01:45 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 3:

Could you imagine, though? Would that not be the surprise of surprise if we found out that one day Lydia and Reese were like getting married. Happily married and a bunch of Caldean babies just running around. Let's go. Reese, do you love Lydia so much? Would you convert?

01:02:06 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 4:

100%. I would love to become a Caldean. It's actually kind of my dream.

01:02:17 - 01:02:19 | Speaker 3:

Let's do it. Come on, Reese.

01:02:21 - 01:02:21 | Speaker 6:

Habibi!

01:02:22 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, let me hear your Habibi.

01:02:26 - 01:02:27 | Speaker 6:

I don't think that's it.

01:02:29 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 3:

What is it? What's the dance called at the wedding that you guys do? Like a baguette? What's the thing with the sticks and all that stuff? At the beginning? Is that what it is?

01:02:37 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh.

01:02:38 - 01:02:38 | Speaker 3:

That's like...

01:02:38 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 1:

It's my favorite part. When I get married, you'll for sure have your own personalized stick. All the guys on the show will.

01:02:44 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 3:

Really? We all get to walk around with it and stuff?

01:02:47 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:02:48 - 01:02:52 | Speaker 3:

I love it. When you get married to Reese. No, I kind of want a stick.

01:02:52 - 01:02:53 | Speaker 4:

so I feel like we can't get married.

01:02:55 - 01:03:00 | Speaker 6:

Megan and Mike,

01:03:00 - 01:03:12 | Speaker 3:

you guys have never been to a Chaldean wedding, have you? Or KP, you've never been to a Chaldean wedding. I was going to ask what the stick was for. First off, let me tell you, a Chaldean wedding is not just a wedding.

01:03:12 - 01:03:30 | Speaker 2:

No, it's the Oscars. I literally stood. I'm not joking. I've only been to one and I will never forget it in my whole entire life. I stood outside because the women coming... I was so severely underdressed. The women coming in were... It was better than the red carpet. I can't go.

01:03:31 - 01:03:38 | Speaker 3:

No, Megan, you don't have to worry about it. Guess what? There's a thousand people at the thing, so you don't have to worry about people.

01:03:38 - 01:03:43 | Speaker 1:

No, you don't want to be the worst or most underdressed out of a thousand people. That makes it worse.

01:03:43 - 01:03:53 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. Yeah, nobody notices. We'd have to tell Reese it starts an hour before it actually starts. Maybe even two hours. Yeah, just to make sure.

01:03:54 - 01:04:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. It is a lot of fun. All right, Lydia, get your dad on the phone. Let's call him up. Let me break the news to him.

01:04:00 - 01:04:06 | Speaker 1:

Is that my mom texting in saying, Dad loves him? Oh, that's hilarious. It is. It is.

01:04:06 - 01:04:08 | Speaker 2:

And then I think that's your dad saying, I love him.

01:04:11 - 01:04:23 | Speaker 3:

Hold on, KP called her. Put her on hold real quick. Lydia's mom is on the phone with us right now. How are you? We just married your daughter off

01:04:23 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 5:

Yes let's marry her off to Reese

01:04:27 - 01:04:33 | Speaker 4:

Let's go Now do you just do you really like Reese Or are you just trying to get Lydia out of the house

01:04:33 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 5:

Both Both I know I really really love him And we talk about him all the time at home

01:04:44 - 01:04:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh she'll make dinner and she'll be like Do you think Reese will want this tomorrow for lunch

01:04:48 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 4:

How about this?

01:04:55 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh my god, I have the biggest smile sitting here at work going, yes, please.

01:05:00 - 01:05:10 | Speaker 2:

if lydia doesn't marry reese because it might be weird around the building if they got married to each other no no what what if he you just adopted him you just adopted reese and he can

01:05:10 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 4:

come you know live with you guys listen i literally cleaned out the spare room and i tell him every time i see him or i talk to him if he ever wanted to move in with us

01:05:23 - 01:05:30 | Speaker 1:

You realize you would eat like a king. I would just be a king.

01:05:31 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Hey, can we do this to Lydia's dad? We want to tell him that Reese is staying there, and then one morning he comes downstairs in his boxer shorts or something and sits next to Lydia's dad at the kitchen table.

01:05:42 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 5:

My whitey tighties.

01:05:45 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I don't know. I think dad would freak out, but he would be accepted because it would be Reese.

01:05:52 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but there's one – I know exactly where your dad's spot is, too, at the kitchen table. You do not sit in that spot. It's right at the end there, right?

01:06:00 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Yep, it's right at the table.

01:06:01 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 2:

He can look out at the – well, he can't look out at the window at the neighbors because he keeps all the blinds closed.

01:06:07 - 01:06:07 | Unknown:

Oh, my goodness.

01:06:09 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 2:

They have this beautiful backyard and these beautiful, like, you know, neighborhood and stuff, and he's got the blinds all closed because he says to the neighbors he doesn't want them looking into his house.

01:06:19 - 01:06:23 | Speaker 6:

And, like, nobody cares what the inside of our house looks like. Love it.

01:06:23 - 01:06:27 | Speaker 2:

All right. We love you so much. You take care of yourself, okay?

01:06:27 - 01:06:28 | Speaker 3:

Love you, man. You too.

01:06:29 - 01:06:30 | Speaker 2:

All right. We'll see you.

01:06:30 - 01:06:31 | Speaker 1:

Bye, future mother-in-law.

01:06:35 - 01:06:46 | Speaker 6:

Oversaying thanks for the laughs. Spike prefers you to show them appreciation with $10,000 in unmarked bills or Bitcoin. Another world-famous phone scam happens at 7.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

01:06:49 - 01:07:40 | Speaker 2:

I had such a great weekend. It was really busy. It was a lot of fun, too. Went to dinner with our very own KP, the producer of the Mojo in the Morning Show. Got an opportunity to spend some time with KP outside of the show, which actually had been lacking. Hadn't really done that since she officially started on as the producer. And so went to dinner. It was myself and Chelsea, and then we had some friends that joined us, too. And it was cool. It was great. Because I said to her, I go, what do you do on the weekends? I always want to know what people do. And I've worked with Spike and Shannon and Mike and Megan for such a long time. I don't know what you guys – like, I will say this to you. I, like, want to know what Reese does on the weekends. Reese, who's our director of social impact, I have this weird feeling that Reese is one of those people that dresses up in furry costumes and goes to, like, furry parties.

01:07:40 - 01:07:44 | Speaker 1:

It depends on the weekend. I mean, if that's what you're saying. Okay. All right. No, I've never done that.

01:07:45 - 01:08:35 | Speaker 2:

I mean, never said ever. I've eaten with you at show lunches and things like that, but I've never, like, you're next, Reese. We've got to go out for a dinner or something. I just want to see what kind of manners you have at a table. Ooh, I don't know about manners. So took KP out. Chelsea has not met KP, and she got a chance to meet her. And first off, there was a couple of things that came out of this whole thing. One of the things that came out of this whole thing is I really like that KP eats. like there's nothing worse than going out to dinner with someone especially when they're they're a female and they feel nervous to eat like she from the moment she i said to her i go you hungry i'm starving she goes i am starving too and i was like go for it we're gonna have some fun and we're gonna go we're gonna have appetizers we're gonna order whatever the hell we want they even had a salad bar at the place you're the type of guy though that that's like

01:08:35 - 01:08:43 | Speaker 6:

you you want this you want this you'll lead across the whole table you'll crawl across the table to get me the charcuterie board did you enjoy it though oh absolutely yeah i've never had a problem

01:08:43 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 5:

with eating i'll tell you that we noticed that the first week we hired kp uh we took megan i took her out and meg that girl can eat and i loved it because my girlfriend said that yeah because my girlfriend notices because she can clear a plate too she's not a salad eating bitch so she was like oh my god i love kp she ordered and she ate oh my gosh yeah i'm not a cheap day my favorite was

01:09:04 - 01:09:09 | Speaker 2:

they had a salad bar at this place and both kp and i were obsessed with this brussels sprout salad that they had on the thing.

01:09:10 - 01:09:10 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God, that's so good.

01:09:10 - 01:09:21 | Speaker 2:

So I leaned over to this really nice waitress. Her name was Kathy, and I said, Kathy, is there any way that we can get a little bit of that to go? That was so sweet. And she comes out with a freaking quart full of it. Oh. It was like the greatest.

01:09:21 - 01:09:25 | Speaker 6:

I didn't realize that you got that for my grandparents, too. I ate the whole thing myself.

01:09:25 - 01:09:28 | Speaker 5:

I said that was for your grandparents. Yeah, take it off. Tell her how good it was.

01:09:28 - 01:10:36 | Speaker 2:

I wanted to make sure that they were. The other thing that we did was Chelsea and I. Chelsea likes to mother, and one of the things that Chelsea realized, she could be and i could be kp's mother and father yeah we both like her mom and chelsea are the same age i'm actually older than her mom it's craziness your mom's what my mom's 47 she's 47 years old and she seems 37 if you ever go hang out with her i could you could be you could have been our child which was like crazy to think that so then we started parenting you below. little bit as far as like your dating life is concerned yes you did because you're on dating apps right now right what dating app are you on i'm on hinge okay so she's on hinge and she's going through you know we know her type is that country boy we've talked about that before she's got this country boy guy that she goes after but occasionally some guys slip into these uh these hinged uh you know profile hinged well i am the father right unhinged they slide into it and they are they are after you right i guess they're like a dog and a bone um i mean it depends on if i

01:10:36 - 01:10:41 | Speaker 1:

answer because typically i will like or like someone will like me and i will accept it but i

01:10:41 - 01:10:47 | Speaker 2:

just um i just don't reply that's my problem is hinge like bubble where you have to girl gets to

01:10:47 - 01:10:52 | Speaker 1:

do everything okay okay does everything on hinge somebody likes you or sends you a rose and then

01:10:52 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 2:

you have to accept it yeah okay what's wait what's what was the one guy there was one guy that was like he got angry because you wouldn't respond what did he do he will he was start he was uh

01:11:01 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 1:

getting on himself he was like is it because i'm annoying and it's like well is that the first message that you're gonna send now you are what was the other guy there was a good looking guy

01:11:11 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 2:

that uh that that i actually thought was was he was cute i can't remember now there was one guy there was one guy that was definitely first off guys no shirtless photos if you're shirtless you're a douche. Yes, I agree with you. Unless it's at the

01:11:25 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 1:

beach and it's like your last photo, in my opinion. I don't want it to be at the first one. But you can't use the profile. No, yeah, no profile shirtless photos.

01:11:31 - 01:11:48 | Speaker 2:

So this was funny. So we're sitting there at dinner and we're eating and then Chelsea gets a text message from one of my son's friends. A single friend, okay? His name is Grant. And he sends Chelsea a text message because I posted a picture of Chelsea, KP, and I. If you want to see it, you can go to our Instagram.

01:11:49 - 01:11:50 | Speaker 3:

All three of you looking hot.

01:11:51 - 01:12:12 | Speaker 2:

I gotta be honest with you. I couldn't believe that I was out with them looking as good as they looked. And I don't want everyone to do a picture. And KP, the first thing she does is, send me that picture before you post it. I want to touch it up. Touch it up? Who are you touching up? You're touching me up? You're touching her up? What are you touching? You're not touching anybody.

01:12:12 - 01:12:22 | Speaker 1:

I changed the lighting because you post the raw photos every time you take. When I notice that on our Instagram, it's always the raw. And it's like, the light could be better.

01:12:22 - 01:12:23 | Speaker 2:

I'm No Makeup Monday.

01:12:23 - 01:12:27 | Speaker 4:

The lighting in the studio is terrible. You'll never get a good picture in here. Just beware.

01:12:27 - 01:12:52 | Speaker 2:

All right. So KP, I don't know if Chelsea shared this with you. She was going to send it to you. Our son's friend, Grant, is 25 years old. I'm going to read his dating profile. It's a dating resume, okay? He sends it because he wants to go on a date with KP. He's 25 years old. Legitimately, his occupation is he's a pro golfer. And this is what he put. Height, 6'3". Weight, 6'4".

01:12:52 - 01:12:54 | Speaker 1:

Weight is 6'4"?

01:12:54 - 01:13:37 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, listen, keep listening. Experience, few women, not a virgin. Talents, handsome, tall, smart, tall, not a virgin. Skills, excel, communication, golf, tall. References, Bella Hadid, Sophia Ritchie, Brooke Austin, some other people I don't even know. And then he wrote at his bottom there, please consider me as a highly respected candidate for your date by the way i'm six foot five and he put this in there and i go what the hell is that all about his claim is girls care nothing about anything in dating other than a guy that's tall yeah is that true yes it is really so when

01:13:37 - 01:13:43 | Speaker 1:

girls are looking for guys all they want is tall i mean i'm a tall girl so yes but you've said this

01:13:43 - 01:14:10 | Speaker 4:

before like obviously i'm only five feet tall i have to disagree because wes is not tall okay and he's real cute did you date tall guys before yes okay so this is in fact i've pretty much always only dated tall guys i think well and you everybody's tall even i'm tall yeah yeah is wes taller than you wes is yes wes is taller than me for sure but but you are a tall girl and you said you love wearing your high heels do you see me right now talking about this if you see me

01:14:10 - 01:14:15 | Speaker 1:

right now in the studio. If you could see me right now, I'm bent over this microphone. Can you imagine if it was a guy? Like, I can't do it.

01:14:15 - 01:14:25 | Speaker 3:

By the way, when you say that, that's weird. Can you imagine if she was bent over a guy and if that wasn't a microphone? Look at Nicole Kimmon and Keith Urban or Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick.

01:14:25 - 01:14:31 | Speaker 2:

Lydia, is that the truth for you, too? Our associate producer, Lydia, who's also tall. Do they have to be tall?

01:14:31 - 01:14:33 | Speaker 1:

They definitely have to be tall. Uh-uh.

01:14:33 - 01:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, gotta be tall. No short guys. Mojo, I do have two questions. I don't want no short man. Remember that song? Yes, what were you saying?

01:14:40 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 1:

questions on what he sent in yeah one can he make a pivot chart he said he's good at excel okay all right what is a pivot chart exactly never could do that in my business class two he says his height three times and there are three different heights yes he is he is four six three and six five which one is i think he's six four

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

okay i'm guessing he's got to be six four

01:15:00 - 01:15:05 | Speaker 5:

He might be 6'5". He is very tall, very tall and lanky, and he's a good-looking guy. Katie, what's going on?

01:15:06 - 01:15:24 | Speaker 1:

Okay, the height thing is absolutely true. So I've been 6'1 since the sixth grade. When I date, it's like the number one thing that I look for. My friends know to set me up. The only thing that I require is the height requirement. They have to be two inches taller than me. I can't deal with it.

01:15:24 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 4:

So you're not even getting to know them first to see if there could be an exception to the room. Yeah.

01:15:30 - 01:15:31 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Kyle? Hi.

01:15:32 - 01:15:42 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how's it going? Good. What's up? So I got to tell you, I got to lie in reverse about my height on dating apps because I've met girls that say I'm too tall because I'm 6'7".

01:15:42 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. KP, you smiled there. KP, do you like 6'7"? Is that too tall?

01:15:48 - 01:15:54 | Speaker 2:

The tallest guy I've ever dated was 6'10". Holy crap. Yep. And he was actually super insecure about his height, and he would, like, hunch over.

01:15:55 - 01:15:59 | Speaker 5:

So it's, like, same thing that you're talking about, Kyle. Do you like guys that are really tall?

01:15:59 - 01:16:02 | Speaker 6:

I got to put myself a 6'5 on the abs.

01:16:03 - 01:16:10 | Speaker 5:

Because you know what? It's true, though. 6'5 definitely looks different than 6'7. But do people ever notice that you're two inches taller than what you said?

01:16:12 - 01:16:17 | Speaker 6:

Not normally, no. Because once you get to that height, it's just already too tall. Interesting.

01:16:18 - 01:16:21 | Speaker 5:

Share the wealth. Are you single?

01:16:22 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 6:

I am.

01:16:23 - 01:16:26 | Speaker 5:

You better go look for KP, our producer on Hinge.

01:16:29 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, awkward laugh. Yeah, that's a no.

01:16:32 - 01:16:33 | Speaker 5:

Thank you for the call.

01:16:33 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 2:

I've never seen it.

01:16:34 - 01:16:42 | Speaker 5:

You've never seen what she looks like? Oh, yeah. Go to our Instagram, and you'll see pictures, okay? Or Facebook, Mojo in the Morning.

01:16:43 - 01:16:44 | Speaker 6:

I'll take it out.

01:16:44 - 01:16:48 | Speaker 5:

All right, we'll talk to you later. Hold on. Mike and Spike, this is for you. Nina says?

01:16:50 - 01:16:55 | Speaker 1:

I am 5'10", and I love my short kings. Nice. Short kings.

01:16:55 - 01:16:57 | Speaker 4:

Thank God somebody does.

01:16:57 - 01:18:05 | Speaker 5:

I got a topic for you, but you can never say who I am or refer to me because it would probably get me divorced. I thought, oh, good. I want to hear this one. He said, how do you as a partner tell your partner that you don't like something that they're doing to themselves because you think that it doesn't make them look as attractive as they are? And here's his situation. For the last three years, his wife, who is brunette, has been dyeing her hair blonde. And every time that she gets it done, he comes home going, oh, man, I was hoping she was going to not want to do that anymore. And he asked a fake that he likes that her hair looks that way. And he said, you can never be honest in that case. Not at all. It's her hair. It's her hair to do what she wants to do with it But I hate it I don't like it I don't think she looks as good as she does With her natural hair or even her hair darker

01:18:05 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 4:

He's smart, he's handling it the right way If she didn't ask for his opinion He just needs to smile and enjoy it Because she likes it

01:18:14 - 01:18:23 | Speaker 5:

Yeah And what does he do if she says Do you like my hair? Say no, not a chance There's no way he's going to say something like that

01:18:23 - 01:18:33 | Speaker 4:

If someone's asking for your honest opinion You have to phrase it very carefully. You could say, I think that looks very pretty. But I actually miss when you're. Oh, Spike. Don't do that.

01:18:33 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 3:

See, I want honest opinion.

01:18:35 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 4:

Well.

01:18:35 - 01:18:40 | Speaker 3:

Especially if it's, you know, my husband or my boyfriend. Like, I want to know.

01:18:41 - 01:18:42 | Speaker 5:

I think that if they say that.

01:18:42 - 01:18:43 | Speaker 3:

But you got to be careful.

01:18:43 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 5:

If they say that to you, you're still going to hurt their feelings and they're not going to be happy about it.

01:18:47 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 3:

Yep.

01:18:48 - 01:18:51 | Speaker 5:

And I wouldn't do it. I would not do it.

01:18:51 - 01:19:07 | Speaker 3:

See, then what happens is like a year from now or two years from now when her hair is brunette again and he makes a comment like, oh, I like your hair so much better. Brunette, I hated it when it was blonde. She's going to be like, why didn't you tell me? Well, just don't say that. Have you ever had- Guys are stupid and they will.

01:19:07 - 01:19:17 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever had anybody say to you that they didn't like a style change that you've done? Oh, yeah. And who are these people? Are they still friends of yours or have you gotten rid of them?

01:19:17 - 01:19:20 | Speaker 3:

No. I mean, Andrew was always really honest with me when we were married.

01:19:20 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 5:

Your ex-husband would tell you?

01:19:22 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah.

01:19:22 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, how would he say it to you?

01:19:23 - 01:19:25 | Speaker 3:

But I asked for that feedback.

01:19:26 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 4:

You can't get mad for someone sharing their opinion if you ask for their opinion.

01:19:29 - 01:19:31 | Speaker 5:

Right, but he's your ex-husband now.

01:19:32 - 01:19:35 | Speaker 3:

It was because he didn't like my hair.

01:19:37 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 5:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Question to the ladies. Should guys be honest? Question to the guys. What do you hate about your wife? I want you to call us up I want the ladies to call us up You should be honest And guys call us up and tell us What is it that you hate about your wife

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Donovan?

01:20:02 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning.

01:20:03 - 01:20:03 | Speaker 1:

What's going on?

01:20:05 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm on the receiving end, I think, only because my five-year-old son spilled the beans when I dropped him off at school.

01:20:11 - 01:20:13 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I love this. What did he say?

01:20:15 - 01:20:39 | Speaker 2:

When I met my wife, I was tattooed from, like, the legs all the way up to my collarbone, but then finished my neck about five years ago. And I think she's embarrassed of that because he said, I'm so happy you dropped me off at school. mom usually gets scared for other people to see you oh wow oh wow yeah well

01:20:39 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 1:

gotta love god love him oh wow michelle what's happening uh nothing good morning guys good

01:20:49 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 4:

morning michelle should you be honest with your spouse i think so because my husband was when we were dating um and that like angled haircut where it kind of you know longer in your chin towards your chin and then like it was super short in the back and people would gel it and you'd shave the the back part of your neck that was the style I got and we were dating and I came in and I was all proud of this haircut and you know he was he was nice about it now later on when it grew out he told me he's like i like the hair on you but i don't like it when you have to shave the back of your head so you can't do it that short again and that was like 15 years ago and i

01:21:32 - 01:21:35 | Speaker 1:

have never cut my hair that short so do you wish he would have said something sooner

01:21:35 - 01:21:48 | Speaker 4:

no i was glad he waited until it grew out a little bit more because i was so geeked that i could actually pull that style off because i didn't think i could so uh mojo in the morning

01:21:48 - 01:21:55 | Speaker 1:

what's up is it reem yes what's going on reem should you be honest with your spouse if you're

01:21:55 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 5:

a guy yes so i'm dark head and um i've always wanted to go blonde and i actually went blonde one time in my life while we were dating and he absolutely hated it his mom is blonde and i always like make comments about how i want to go blonde again and he literally will pass my life out all the time and tell me that i need to stay dark no matter what and i'll he'll divorce me

01:22:25 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 1:

if i go blonde so oh my god okay that's really hard that's reem reem that's abusive that's not

01:22:31 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 5:

good yes yeah he just jokes about it but um he definitely loves my hair dark and it's just

01:22:38 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 1:

it's good to be honest that's all i'm saying honesty without hurting feelings is probably A little bit better. Or threatening. What's up, Sammy?

01:22:49 - 01:23:22 | Speaker 3:

Hi. First time calling, thought this was important to put my input in. Okay. I just wanted to let you guys know, my boyfriend lets me know when he doesn't like color on my hair. Like one time I dyed it blue, and he was like, you know, you look really good, but that is not my favorite color on you. And I will never dye my hair blue again. And I'm thankful that he said that because I'm the type of person that if my boyfriend tells me he thinks I look good in the color, I'm going to keep doing it because I think that's what he likes.

01:23:22 - 01:23:32 | Speaker 6:

He said it. Oh, gosh. I don't know what just happened there. I took a deep breath. But he said it really nicely. Like, I think you look good. I think you look beautiful. But I like it when it's, you know, different.

01:23:33 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And I think if you handle it that way, you're not going to hurt her feelings. Yeah. And you're being honest because she may think he likes the blonde and she may keep doing it because she thinks that he likes it.

01:23:46 - 01:24:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That's, yeah, so honestly, can I read this series of texts from 734? Yeah. It says, very hetero-focused same-sex marriages also exist. I'm changing this station. Okay. So my posing of the question was, if you're a woman, do you want your guy to tell you that the hair looks bad? If you're a guy, call us up and tell us about what looks bad. Guys are dummies to my gay friend here. And guys are dumb enough to call us up and tell us what they don't like about their spouse. And they're dummies in knowing what to go on with this. I am not hetero-focused. Matter of fact, we're very open-minded and talk about lots of things on this radio program. You must be a new listener.

01:24:37 - 01:24:39 | Speaker 2:

That's obviously a brand new listener. He's never heard her.

01:24:39 - 01:24:54 | Speaker 1:

Just so you know, if there are those that are in gay relationships that are equally as dumb as our hetero friends, then call us up and tell us your story and make us laugh a little bit. Thank you. Now back to our regular scheduled program, already in progress.

01:24:55 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 2:

Brandon, here comes one of those dumb guys.

01:24:59 - 01:25:01 | Speaker 3:

I

01:25:00 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 4:

Actually, Brandon, you're not dumb. You actually say that you are a very honest man.

01:25:06 - 01:25:48 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely. I mean, the thing about it is, and good morning, Monty. I rock with you guys. Thank you. Yeah, there's no reason if you really love a person and she loves you, I feel like you've got to say it. There's a couple situations where she says, do you think I'm gaining? Or have I looked like I got a little bit thicker? And so I would say, no, I don't think so, because she really only eats one meal a day, but it's weird how her metabolism works. So I'll just pull out a picture from, you know, when we got this one picture when I asked her to marry me. She's so excited, so I put it up above her closet. And so I say, well, see, in that picture, you know, you looked a little different, but I don't think you look bad. Oh, my God.

01:25:49 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 1:

See?

01:25:49 - 01:25:50 | Speaker 3:

You think that's better.

01:25:50 - 01:25:58 | Speaker 1:

This is the end. Hair's different That's the strategy he thought about for a while And planned

01:25:58 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 5:

Jesus Christ, I met some dumb bastards in my time But you outdo them all

01:26:02 - 01:26:06 | Speaker 4:

Brandon Not your best work

01:26:06 - 01:26:11 | Speaker 3:

It's a dumb mother Yeah

01:26:11 - 01:26:14 | Speaker 4:

Brandon, how many years have you been married?

01:26:15 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 3:

I got married in July, dude

01:26:17 - 01:26:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, okay Let's see how long we go here Alright, Brandon Well, you know what? Thanks for the example of why I posed the question to women and men in hetero relationships. Thank you for the call.

01:26:31 - 01:26:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and the person obviously was a new listener, man. They ain't ready for it. Hey, some people ain't ready. They got to put their earmuffs on on certain parts of the NJM.

01:26:38 - 01:27:23 | Speaker 4:

All right. Thank you. Thank you for the call. Later. I appreciate it. Later, guys. All right. Take care. Bye-bye. Mojo. He's playing game show host. Says he never could really host a real game show. The throwback throwdown happens this morning after 8. On Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning, your home of the phone scams. Madison is heading back to college. Her mom has been saying how quiet and lonely the house will be. So Madison kept joking to her mom that she was going to sign her up for an exchange student to keep her company. Here's where Spike comes in. We're going to tell Joan it wasn't a joke. They're signed up for a foreign exchange student to live with them. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

01:27:24 - 01:27:27 | Speaker 5:

Yee, yee, yee, yee, yee, I'll scare you.

01:27:27 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning phone scams.

01:27:33 - 01:27:35 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hello, is this Ms. Esposito?

01:27:36 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

01:27:37 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 1:

This is Nico, my good friend of Ryan O'Donnell.

01:27:39 - 01:27:40 | Speaker 2:

Who?

01:27:40 - 01:27:41 | Speaker 1:

Ryan O'Donnell.

01:27:42 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 2:

Who's that?

01:27:43 - 01:27:50 | Speaker 1:

He's a guy who lives down in Atlanta, quite a drinker. Listen, I'm calling to let you know Ms. Colada is here, and we are just processing her out.

01:27:51 - 01:27:53 | Speaker 2:

I have no idea what you're talking about.

01:27:54 - 01:28:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, this is Nico from the Student Hosting Exchange of Learning by International Teachers, or SHE-LIT for short. And I'm ready with your foreign exchange student.

01:28:05 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 2:

My what?

01:28:06 - 01:28:09 | Speaker 1:

You filled out an application to accept a foreign exchange student?

01:28:10 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 2:

I don't know what you're talking about.

01:28:12 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 1:

You're Ms. Madison Esposito? Oh, that's my daughter. And she's not there? No. Okay, well, I just need to know who's coming down to pick up your student.

01:28:22 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 2:

Pick up? I didn't know anything about this.

01:28:25 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you've got foreign exchange students, all been prearranged, signed up to live at your house. You're a host family, ma'am. There's no way. I can't take on a student. Then why would you sign up for it?

01:28:37 - 01:28:40 | Speaker 2:

I didn't, and I'm going to get my daughter on the phone and find out what this is all about.

01:28:41 - 01:28:52 | Speaker 1:

Listen, she came all the way from Mozambique, and before that she lived in the Republic of Gigi Hadid, where she escaped a horrible civil war. but now she's waiting for her ride she's the last one left here all the other students have

01:28:52 - 01:29:06 | Speaker 2:

been picked up oh gosh this is terrible i i feel terrible about this but i don't know what to say well you gotta take her in i don't even know where i i put her i i have no room well you put her in

01:29:06 - 01:29:21 | Speaker 1:

a bedroom your daughter's away there's a free bedroom well i i have to speak to my daughter Okay, I got her here, not your daughter, but Miss Collada. She wants to say hello. Maybe you can tell her what time you're coming.

01:29:22 - 01:29:23 | Speaker 2:

Miss Collada?

01:29:23 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 5:

Fix me a big jug of orange juice, Kool-Aid with some pineapple juice.

01:29:30 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 2:

I know you came a long way, but I didn't know anything about it.

01:29:33 - 01:29:37 | Speaker 5:

Oh, catfish on the booger booger on the sissy on the ride.

01:29:38 - 01:29:53 | Speaker 1:

I think she's a little frustrated. She doesn't know why she's still waiting here for a ride. Oh. Is that right, Ms. Collada? This is weird in the booger booger. Yeah, it is weird. What is she saying? She was saying she likes Kool-Aid. It's a powdered drink mix sold in most grocery stores.

01:29:53 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, I know what Kool-Aid is. I really want to apologize to you. Could you please explain to her?

01:30:00 - 01:30:05 | Speaker 4:

of why we're not picking her up to come here to my house. I'd really appreciate it.

01:30:05 - 01:30:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, the only thing I could explain is some kind of fraud. I mean, what's your business filling out an application and then refusing to participate once a poor lady comes all the way to the United States? I'm so sorry. I didn't feel that.

01:30:16 - 01:30:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, catfish on the booger booger on the sissies on the ride.

01:30:20 - 01:30:22 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man, she is upset. Now, I think you owe her an apology.

01:30:23 - 01:30:31 | Speaker 4:

I apologize, but I think my daughter owes you a bigger apology. I'm really upset with her.

01:30:32 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, man, the news just keeps getting worse. Look, her younger sister's here now. That's her sister, Jackie.

01:30:39 - 01:30:42 | Speaker 4:

This is Smoker Jackie, and it's the weekend, bitches.

01:30:44 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, boy. Actually, Joan, this is Spike from the Mojo in the Morning Show, and you've just been the victim of a phone scam.

01:30:50 - 01:31:04 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Would you believe I haven't even had my cup of coffee yet? Oh, my God. We will, we will scam you.

Look like a lollipop.

01:33:21 - 01:33:22 | Unknown:

Oh, yeah, I like it.

01:33:22 - 01:33:44 | Speaker 2:

That first song at the beginning threw me off. I think I cued in too much. That was probably it. But we don't have to bring that up, and nobody would notice it if we didn't mention it.

01:33:44 - 01:33:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I thought it was part of the song. I know. It was. It was.

This is the home of the throwback throwdown. Mojo in the morning.

01:42:58 - 01:44:08 | Speaker 1:

Someone was talking crap about me. I'm going to talk about that here next on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Thank you for being here. Let me just tell you that you're listening to iHeartRadio's Mojo in the Morning Show. You can hear us on the iHeartRadio app wherever you go. were also heard Monday through Friday on great radio stations like 104.5 SNX in Grand Rapids Channel 955 in Detroit and 92.5 KISS FM in Toledo and of course our podcasts are available for you you can pick those up on the iHeartRadio app too they got great, you know, bunch of podcasts most podcasts ever on one platform number one for podcasts, iHeartRadio check us out there All right, now that I got all the other plugs in, somebody was talking crap about me. I learned this yesterday. Do we have any Albanians that are listening to the show right now? I know we got a lot of Albanians that listen to us. Beautiful people, by the way, especially the women. So I had a horrible case of the hiccups, and I couldn't stop. And it becomes a thing where it's like, once they start, you can't stop at all.

01:44:09 - 01:44:10 | Speaker 3:

I always get scared that they're never going to stop.

01:44:10 - 01:44:15 | Speaker 1:

And they come in embarrassing times. Wouldn't that be the worst if you could?

01:44:15 - 01:44:16 | Speaker 3:

Well, that happened to that one girl, remember?

01:44:16 - 01:44:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. She had hiccups for like pretty much ever, right?

01:44:19 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 3:

Years, I think.

01:44:20 - 01:44:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. The hiccup girl. She was on TV. And I was doing the hiccups. So I go, you know, like doing that. And I was like, it looked like I was going to. And this very beautiful Albanian woman, I found out later after she told me what I'm about to tell you, told me that Albanians believe that when you have the hiccups, there's like some kind of folklore that says it means someone is talking bad about you.

01:44:49 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was when your nose itch.

01:44:51 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 2:

That's what I thought.

01:44:52 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 1:

No, it's the hiccups for the Albanians. Call me Albanians. This Albanian person was saying that.

01:44:58 - 01:44:58 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:45:00 - 01:45:01 | Speaker 2:

Hold on, my nose is kind of itchy, too. What's going on?

01:45:02 - 01:45:07 | Speaker 3:

I thought hiccups was just somebody that's thinking about you. Like, it could be a positive.

01:45:07 - 01:46:06 | Speaker 2:

Well, I guess for Albanians, it's a, I don't know, it's somebody talking crap about you. I didn't know that. Which, everybody has, like, folklore, like, from their, whatever their culture is. And whenever I hear them, sometimes I always go, that's kind of weird. Like, you guys saying what you think that the hiccup thing means. But another friend of mine one time told me that she believes that if you make a big statement and someone sneezes, it validates what you're saying. But I always love when people do tell you this stuff because she comes up to me. And you know what the hardest part of this thing is? And you know what I'm talking about, Spike, right, with how beautiful Albanian women are? She's talking to me, and all I'm thinking about the whole time is how gorgeous she is. And I'm going, ah! Like, I'm making all these noises, and I'm going, this is the most embarrassing thing ever. Why can't I catch her on my best game? What's going on, Debbie? Hi. How are you? Did you say Debbie? That's what I said. Hi, Debbie.

01:46:06 - 01:46:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm sorry. Hi. How are you?

01:46:08 - 01:46:09 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's going on?

01:46:10 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so if your nose itches, that means you're going to kiss a fool.

01:46:13 - 01:46:14 | Speaker 3:

Really?

01:46:15 - 01:46:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Not that you're what Shannon said. I'm sorry, Shannon. I love you. Oh, no.

01:46:19 - 01:46:25 | Speaker 7:

Well, I can't remember which, you know, which it relates to what.

01:46:25 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 2:

Where is that? What's the kiss a fool thing from? Is that from some culture?

01:46:30 - 01:46:47 | Speaker 4:

I've always heard that ever since I've been a little girl. You know, we always used to go through these old wives' tales, and that was just one of them. And, like, you know, like I know when I'm going somewhere I haven't been before, my left foot itches like crazy under my foot. It's because I'm going somewhere that I've never been.

01:46:47 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 2:

And you're nervous about it, probably, right?

01:46:50 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 4:

Maybe. I don't know.

01:46:51 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 2:

Hold on. Lisa says the nose itching means something different to her, Debbie. Listen to this. Lisa?

01:46:59 - 01:47:00 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, hi.

01:47:00 - 01:47:01 | Speaker 2:

Hi. What does it mean?

01:47:02 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 7:

It means you're going to fight with somebody. Really? Wow.

01:47:05 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Wow.

01:47:07 - 01:47:07 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

01:47:08 - 01:47:10 | Speaker 3:

Your nose itching. That's what I've heard.

01:47:10 - 01:47:16 | Speaker 7:

And, yeah, they say when your nose itching means you're going to fight with someone.

01:47:16 - 01:47:19 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Sarah, what's up?

01:47:20 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Mojo. So I'm actually Albanian, and when you told me about when you say something and you sneeze, and that means it's right, my family, they always say that. Like, I'll say something like, oh, yeah, I'm going to go to blah, blah, blah's house. And then I sneeze, and they're like, oh, okay. And they're like, it's so funny.

01:47:47 - 01:47:53 | Speaker 3:

Well, now I'm going to remember to always put too much pepper in everybody's food before I make a statement, so they think I'm always telling the truth.

01:47:54 - 01:47:57 | Speaker 2:

What about the hiccups thing? What about the Albanian hiccup thing? Is that true?

01:47:58 - 01:48:20 | Speaker 6:

Yes, it is true. So one thing that we also do is that when you hiccup, they want you to say, like, people who you think is thinking about you name. So, like, say my name's Sarah. So I'll say, Sarah, and then I'll hold my breath and, like, think of all the people that could be thinking about me and then hope that my hiccups go away.

01:48:21 - 01:48:26 | Speaker 2:

Very interesting. I know. We love Albanians. Thank you for listening.

01:48:27 - 01:48:28 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. No problem.

01:48:28 - 01:48:32 | Speaker 3:

I'm Irish, and I've always learned if your ass itches, it means you need to take a shower.

01:48:34 - 01:48:40 | Speaker 2:

We should make one up. Like that. Like that should be ours to be spread today. Yeah. So tell everybody if your ass.

01:48:40 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 3:

Spread. Oh, God.

01:48:41 - 01:49:12 | Speaker 5:

what's up kate hi i was calling um i was always told that either when your ears ring either someone's talking about about you or a ghost goes through you a ghost goes through that's why yeah i've been told that a couple times oh different who's that with you what do you have somebody with you oh no i was getting food mcdonald's Oh, what'd you order it? 01:49:16 - 01:49:20 | Speaker 3:

Breakfast of champions. Yeah. Yeah, those are the dance.

01:49:20 - 01:49:21 | Speaker 2:

Those are good. Thank you.

01:49:21 - 01:49:25 | Speaker 3:

Another one. Did you guys ever hear if your palm itches, your hand itches, it means you're going to come into money?

01:49:25 - 01:49:30 | Speaker 7:

I actually have heard that, I think. Or something. I don't know. There's too many.

01:49:30 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 2:

I just thought I had dry skin. I thought you were saying something dirtier there when, I thought you had another one of those jokes that you were going to say something dirty. What's up, Howard?

01:49:40 - 01:49:41 | Speaker 1:

Hey, good morning.

01:49:41 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:49:43 - 01:49:48 | Speaker 1:

As a kid, my mom used to tell me when I had the hiccups that it just meant that I was growing, getting taller.

01:49:49 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:49:50 - 01:49:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it must have been some type of true because I ended up being 6'6".

01:49:53 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 3:

Oh, wow. Geez. I could have used a few more hiccups. I haven't had a hiccup in years.

01:50:00 - 01:50:11 | Speaker 5:

Thanks for the call. You guys ever notice that Ellen, our executive producer, gets the hiccups often? Like she will have them happen to her? No, I've never heard of it. Ellen, how often do you get the hiccups?

01:50:13 - 01:50:24 | Speaker 3:

Every time I'm hungry, every time I eat, usually if I drink too much water at once, sometimes just one really loud one, but only if I'm in an echoing room, probably at least seven to ten times a day.

01:50:24 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 5:

Has it ever been so embarrassing for you? Like, have you ever been in a really embarrassing situation?

01:50:29 - 01:50:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, a job interview.

01:50:30 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 5:

Really? You had a hiccup the whole time?

01:50:33 - 01:50:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I had to be like, I'm so sorry, I had the hiccups, but in the middle of trying to answer questions, it was horrible.

01:50:38 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 6:

I bet you were memorable, though. Did you get the job?

01:50:43 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was for when I worked at CERMO, so I did.

01:50:46 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Marcella? Or Mariella?

01:50:48 - 01:50:50 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, oh, you got it right.

01:50:50 - 01:50:54 | Speaker 5:

Marcella Mariella. What a beautiful name. What's going on? Mariella, thank you.

01:50:54 - 01:51:30 | Speaker 2:

01:51:55 - 01:51:57 | Speaker 2:

Appreciate it. No, thank you. Bye, guys.

01:51:57 - 01:52:03 | Speaker 1:

Bye. Every man has the right to be ugly, but Mojo is abusing the privilege. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:52:04 - 01:52:51 | Speaker 5:

This weekend, I called a friend of mine, and he picked up the phone pretty quick, like on the second ring. I was like, hey, what's up? And I was talking to him about a couple of things. We're trying to plan a day where we can go to like a Pistons game or something and having a conversation with him was really interesting because I kept thinking to myself I think there's something going on with my phone connection. Wait what is that? That was the sound that I heard when I was talking to him and I'm like hey what's uh what's going on talking and I go is there like a noise on this phone here do you want me let me call you right back and see if this noise goes oh no no no no he goes I'm manscaping right now Because I got a date tonight And I think I'm going to be getting something

01:52:51 - 01:52:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh my god Why did he have to share that information Why can't he just say I'm shaving Why pick up the phone Exactly

01:52:59 - 01:53:02 | Speaker 6:

I know exactly who this friend is And you don't even have to say his name

01:53:02 - 01:53:57 | Speaker 5:

No it's not that friend No it isn't Not a friend A different one but equally as bad as the other one. He ruined my dinner as I was getting ready to eat dinner and thinking of him shaving his privates. And I wanted to do this as a topic because I think that we could get funny calls. I want to know what were they doing when you called them? And you can call 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Did you call somebody and you found out either right at the beginning of the conversation or while you were having your conversation or maybe at the end of the conversation that they were doing something and they probably should not have picked up the phone? I mean, I have been known to talk on the toilet numerous times.

01:53:57 - 01:53:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, all the time.

01:53:58 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 5:

And I didn't realize that the bathroom, when I leave the door open in our bedroom, that that bathroom echoes a little bit. Until finally after probably years of making phone calls, somebody said to me, you're in the bathroom. I go, no, I'm not. And they're like, yeah, you can hear the echo. I'm like, wait, I have the door open. I didn't think that the door, that the echo would be there if the door was open.

01:54:26 - 01:54:31 | Speaker 6:

I mean, I picked up the phone for you, Yahoo's, when I was pushing a baby out of my body.

01:54:31 - 01:54:37 | Speaker 5:

That is probably the winner of this contest here of, well, it's not really a contest, of this conversation.

01:54:37 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 6:

Like I head in the birth canal And I am answering your questions

01:54:41 - 01:54:48 | Speaker 5:

And that was That was Lucy If you stayed the entire time We would have heard even the cries come out

01:54:48 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 6:

Didn't do it fast enough for you

01:54:50 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 5:

From you and Lucy Of that moment 844-665-6548 Or text if you're listening to us on the iHeart app And if yours is really good

01:55:00 - 01:55:07 | Speaker 1:

01:55:07 - 01:55:31 | Speaker 6:

the tamer of versions adam hi hey guys um so i text you guys a lot and one time ellen called me to talk about the topic while i was pooping but you answered my friends absolutely i mean my you You guys are safe as Mojo in the morning in my phone. When Mojo in the morning calls, you answer no matter what.

01:55:31 - 01:56:01 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you. I appreciate that. Did she notice, you think? I don't know. Probably not. Yeah. She probably would have mentioned it if that was the case. She would have wrote it up on our call screen, Bornaz. Add him with a comment and drop in a deuce. I would have hung up. Yeah, you would have hung up on him? Oh, come on. We can't hang up on our listeners. They're good people, whether they're pooping or not. We have Liza on the phone with us right now. So, Liza, the topic is, what were they doing when you called?

01:56:03 - 01:56:03 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

01:56:04 - 01:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Your voice disguised.

01:56:06 - 01:56:15 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, hi. So, when I was in high school, my mom actually called me when I wasn't where I was supposed to be, and I was in the middle of having sex.

01:56:16 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, boy. And you still picked up the phone.

01:56:18 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 2:

I still picked up the phone because she thought that I was with a different friend, and I wasn't there.

01:56:24 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 1:

So, what was your excuse? By the way, I feel very awkward because you were high school at the time doing this. What was your response to your mom? Did you have to come up with some kind of a lie?

01:56:35 - 01:56:45 | Speaker 2:

No, I just told her we were getting ready to go into a store, so, like, I had to go. But she's, like, very strict, so she was, if I didn't answer the phone, like, a whole big deal would have happened.

01:56:46 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 1:

Did your mom have any idea that you were doing what you were doing?

01:56:51 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 2:

No. She would have yelled at me immediately.

01:56:55 - 01:57:01 | Speaker 1:

Wow. You're lucky that you didn't GPS your phone to see exactly where you were and realize you weren't out in front of a store.

01:57:02 - 01:57:02 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:57:03 - 01:57:11 | Speaker 1:

Brian, also voice disguised here right now. Brian, we're talking about what were they doing when they called. Was it you or them?

01:57:12 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 3:

It was me, Mojo.

01:57:14 - 01:57:18 | Speaker 1:

What were you doing? Your voice disguised, too.

01:57:19 - 01:57:22 | Speaker 3:

Receiving oral fascination from my wife. Oh.

01:57:22 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 1:

Wait.

01:57:23 - 01:57:24 | Speaker 5:

Who called?

01:57:24 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 3:

People pick up the phone. Why? It was a long-time joke between me and my buddy to see who could answer when we were, you know.

01:57:34 - 01:57:36 | Speaker 5:

That's kind of weird. Some people are into that.

01:57:38 - 01:57:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know, it was all fun and games, and then she gets mad, but that, you know, ruined my day.

01:57:44 - 01:57:52 | Speaker 1:

My favorite is, it sounds like you have machinery behind you, and you can hear the machinery being voice disguised. Is that what that is behind you?

01:57:52 - 01:57:55 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I saw that paper. That's why I'm Voices Guy.

01:57:55 - 01:58:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Okay. I was like, wow, that's pretty wild. I'm like, what is that noise in the background there? And I realized it's a Voices Guy's noise. Here are some nicer text messages here. I was getting a manicure and pedicure when my boss called me thinking that I was actually out on a client call. That's a good one. Because I got to tell you something. You go get a manicure, pedicure, the ambiance behind there. Sometimes if it's a busy manicure, you know, a pedicure, like a nail salon. You're busting. You know. It's very bad. Another one here was I was shopping at the mall while I was supposed to be at work and told my boss that I was sick, and you could hear the Christmas music playing blaring in the background.

01:58:37 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's from somebody in our sales department.

01:58:41 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 1:

Jose, hi.

01:58:43 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 5:

What's up? What's up? So my wife called me. I was at the strip club. I run out the strip club to answer the phone. and we had Santa Claus in the strip club, and we kept telling the strippers, hey, we want some ho-ho-ho's, and my girl found out on Instagram that we were at the strip club. Oh, jeez.

01:59:04 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 1:

So you did everything right except for letting somebody take a picture of you and put it up on Instagram. No, I put the video up. You big dummy. Oh, you're the dummy. Oh, jeez. Thank you, Jose. What's up, Casey?

01:59:19 - 01:59:19 | Unknown:

Casey.

01:59:20 - 01:59:21 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:59:21 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What we're talking about, what were they doing or what were you doing when you picked up the phone?

01:59:27 - 01:59:39 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I had actually called off work that day, played hooky, and my HR called while I was baking cookies, and my watch, my Apple watch picked up, and she listened to over two minutes of it.

01:59:40 - 01:59:42 | Speaker 5:

She stayed on for two minutes.

01:59:43 - 01:59:50 | Speaker 4:

She actually called me back the next day and asked me if I was okay because she thought I was being attacked.

01:59:50 - 01:59:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Wow. You have some passionate lovemaking going on there, don't you?

01:59:56 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

It was quite embarrassing. I couldn't make eye contact.

02:00:00 - 02:00:02 | Speaker 2:

I bet not. Thank you for the call.

02:00:03 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 1:

We get all four seasons, sometimes in the same day. You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

02:00:11 - 02:00:23 | Speaker 2:

Megan can never look them in the eyes ever again. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Thank you for being here. I'm Mojo with Spike and Shannon. What's the story, Megan?

02:00:23 - 02:01:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, gee. Well, you know what? I've been on a little bit of a journey the past couple of weeks. of trying to, like, love myself again and take care of myself and just do little nice things, right? Big mistake. Huge. I have started wearing, apart from today, obviously, because it's Friday and I just couldn't handle myself, wearing makeup every day, trying to at least put my hair, like, back and make it neat every day. And I've been trying to wear more of my clothes because I have an insane amount of clothes and I wear, like, the same five pairs of sweatpants every single day. So I'm like, let's wear dresses, let's wear skirts, let's find cute outfits, let's wear, you know, a little pump to work. Let's just make ourselves feel nice. Biggest regret, we'll not be doing it anymore. Why? We'll be going back to sweatpants because yesterday I had on a little T-shirt, a little skirt moment, I had on a cute platform shoe, and I was walking to my car, and I'm a bag lady. at work. Like, usually if you see me out and about, I have a tiny, tiny little purse, but when I come to work, I have 8,000 bags that I am carrying in my hands. And this big just gust of wind came up, and my skirt went afloat. It just went on its own little journey in front of my male co-workers. And they got to see my watermelon print underwear. And you know what?

02:01:53 - 02:01:55 | Speaker 2:

Watermelon print? That's fancy.

02:01:56 - 02:02:16 | Speaker 3:

Is it or is it childish? Not really. but my skirt didn't just go like up and down it did that up and flow and you're like trying to push it down and then the back pops up even higher and you put the back down in the front and goes up even higher and yep i uh i'm going back to sweatpants guys you know it doesn't float

02:02:16 - 02:02:38 | Speaker 2:

up sweatpants so i often wondered uh how like that's gonna be really difficult and the dresses will just, like, blow all over the place and blow up. Like, I love when you see a girl walking, and she's like this. And she's holding it to the front end and the back end. And I'm going, that doesn't look very comfortable. It probably would have been easier just to put on jeans today.

02:02:40 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 3:

Survival. That's what that's all about. Yeah. Keeping the skirt down.

02:02:43 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 2:

Has that happened to any other of our ladies listening to the Mojo in the Morning Show? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. did any of you guys did any of you guys ever have it come like who saw it what opportunity or what time did it happen to you you see that all the time I remember my first time I ever went to New York and I've only been there a couple of times but I was walking and I'm looking up at all the buildings and all this stuff and I realized the women in New York have to be really careful

02:03:12 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 1:

New York and Chicago that wind whips down the streets

02:03:15 - 02:03:16 | Speaker 2:

oh just below and then

02:03:16 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 3:

and then you're going down to the subway

02:03:18 - 02:03:32 | Speaker 2:

Those crates or whatever. Do you ever walk over the grates or the vents? No, I walk around those, by the way, because I'm scared I'm going to fall in. Same, same, same. Mojo in the morning, did you have a Megan moment happen to you?

02:03:33 - 02:03:48 | Speaker 4:

I do. So I was at a military graduation, and I had a shorter dress on, and my dress actually rose up because of a diaper bag I was holding. and a 13-year-old boy and his mother seen my butt cheek.

02:03:50 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 2:

Did they say anything or make any weird faces?

02:03:54 - 02:04:05 | Speaker 4:

Luckily, the mom very nicely said, Hey, ma'am, your dress is up. So I pulled it down. So I had to hold it the rest of the time because the diaper bag kept pulling it up. Oh, no.

02:04:05 - 02:04:09 | Speaker 2:

And look at the cuties in the background. You can hear your little baby in the background.

02:04:10 - 02:04:10 | Unknown:

Yeah.

02:04:11 - 02:04:13 | Speaker 2:

Thanks for the call. What's up, Kaylee?

02:04:14 - 02:04:34 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Mojo, I was just calling. I was walking down an eight-mile, honestly, not that long ago, and I had a flowy tank top on and a skirt, and I flashed all of eight miles for a good 30 seconds. Oh, no. I have learned, though, if you put in fake hem tape and throw some dimes all the way around, it saves your life. Wait, stop that. Oh, I've heard of this.

02:04:34 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 2:

So you tape dimes to your dress?

02:04:37 - 02:04:47 | Speaker 5:

Yes, so, like, on the very bottom of it, you make a new hemline, and you do dimes, like, every inch around it, and it's just enough weight to where you can't see it, but it holds it down from the wind.

02:04:47 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 3:

Wow, that's really creative.

02:04:48 - 02:04:58 | Speaker 2:

If the tape ever comes unglued, and all of a sudden it's like you're dropping change all over the place. People are like, where the hell is she keeping that change there? I don't know.

02:05:00 - 02:05:11 | Speaker 7:

money to feed the parking meter then alissa hi what's going on you've had this happen to you

02:05:11 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 6:

well it didn't happen well it's happened to me before but this is a different story i was on vacation and i was taking like a nice video of the beautiful scenery i go back to look at the video and i caught a lady whose dress blew up from the wind in my nice video.

02:05:29 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. And you got it on video. God, the worst time in the world for that poor woman.

02:05:34 - 02:05:35 | Speaker 6:

I definitely deleted it.

02:05:35 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. After you showed it to every one of your friends and family members?

02:05:41 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 6:

No.

02:05:41 - 02:05:45 | Speaker 7:

Okay. All right. What's up, Mojo in the morning? Is this Gabriela?

02:05:46 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:05:47 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 7:

What's up? Oh, this is the bad time to have this happen to you.

02:05:53 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 3:

I was at...

02:05:55 - 02:05:58 | Speaker 7:

Say that again Your phone cut out What's that say?

02:05:59 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 4:

I was at church And my church has those floor vents Where they're literally on the floor And I walked over while the air conditioner was blowing And my skirt went up Oh lord Did everybody say something?

02:06:23 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 3:

um it was a couple like gas but that was about it uh they closed events after that

02:06:31 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 5:

michelle what's up you wanted to talk to megan i do megan you rock on you be your beautiful always beautiful self and you get your pair soft a pair of boy shorts or a pair of shorts And you throw a stupid watermelon under his way and you rock it, girl.

02:06:52 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 7:

Oh, you want her to go underwear-less?

02:06:55 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 5:

I can say yes.

02:06:56 - 02:07:28 | Speaker 2:

Okay, can I tell you what the real problem was? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Pardon me? The real problem is, here's a little fun fact into my life. This is where my mental health is going to play a role in this. I never go out without bike shorts on underneath a dress or skirt. But I was too lazy to do laundry and the chub rub was real. And it was just a mess. And also, these watermelon underwear, the band was starting to come off a little bit. I was not going to.

02:07:28 - 02:07:43 | Speaker 1:

I wasn't cute at all. All that keeps playing in my head is hairstyles. Watermelon underwear. Yeah! Laugh at Spike's phone scam to help forget about the annoying people you'll see today. It's this morning at 9.50 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:07:43 - 02:09:41 | Speaker 7:

Mojo in the morning So there is this Reddit thread that I was Just reading About The babysitter who Ended up getting the mom In trouble It's on a subreddit That says Am I an a-hole The woman in this Reddit says That she's babysitting for this mom who constantly disrespects her time by being late. She said, I'd go babysit for her so she could go to brunch and then she'd be gone from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. and I would never know when she was going to come back. Well, then she goes on to say, in a recent situation, it pushed her over the edge. And listen to what she did. She said that she got to the house at 6 p.m. and was supposed to watch them until 9 p.m. when the mom was going to come home. The mom promised her this because she was going to go out and she made plans with a bunch of her friends. Well, she said 9 p.m. rolls around, the mom didn't come home. Called her, no response. Text, no response. Another hour, nothing. Still calling and texting. Finally, at midnight, by this point, her plans had pretty much been ruined and she was pissed and exhausted. she called left a voicemail saying that if she's not home in the next hour she's considering the kids abandoned and it was going to call the police she also texted her this tried for more than an hour again to try to get her on there did not get her so she ended up calling the police And because she called the police DCF came in The Department of Children and Family Services Came in And ended up taking the kids

02:09:41 - 02:09:44 | Speaker 2:

Wow So wait, where was the mom?

02:09:44 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 7:

So the mom went out She was just going out and hanging out with her friends Most people on Reddit were quick To reassure the babysitter That she didn't do anything wrong By calling the cops in this particular situation There were a few that were really pissed Saying, how could you do this?

02:10:00 - 02:10:26 | Speaker 2:

You know what ends up happening in a situation like this Especially if she's going through any kind of a custody problem That she could get herself into trouble for this But the babysitter In most of the eyes of the Reddit You know, thread Here is getting like positive comments What do you guys think? What do you think of her calling The Children and Family Services

02:10:26 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 3:

What were the ages of the kids again?

02:10:28 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 2:

I don't know Hold on a second I gotta pull up The actual thread again Because I just deleted it They're young Let's put it this way They're young enough That they Can't be home By themselves

02:10:39 - 02:10:55 | Speaker 1:

I think if I were And I babysat For years and years And years I think if I were That babysitter I would have called The police to report The mom missing Oh that's interesting Because then Because then You're not necessarily Like you're You're putting the You're not tattling But you're putting it out there Right

02:10:55 - 02:11:04 | Speaker 3:

That's a good call Shannon That's really smart Yeah Yeah, because I think babysitters become attached to the kids and you worry about their safety. So I can't blame the I can't blame the sitter for doing that.

02:11:04 - 02:11:41 | Speaker 2:

Babysitters, by the way, like if you're if you're somebody that babysits, you know this firsthand that you won't babysit for a person ever again if they're going to be disrespectful of your time. And and there have been times where friends of ours would lose babysitters to even us. We would get offered, you know, to have these babysitters, you know, work for us because they would be like, we don't want to work for them anymore because this situation where they wouldn't take advantage of you and they don't, you know, they don't even compensate you for the extra time. Yeah. I know you got a great babysitter, right? You have a Pam that's awesome.

02:11:42 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 1:

She's the best.

02:11:42 - 02:11:44 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever had any issues at all with a babysitter?

02:11:45 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, actually this week. It's funny that you say that. It wasn't Pam, by the way. It wasn't Pam. No, Pim is an angel. She could do no wrong. But I feel like I need to preface by saying I love, love, love. I love you, Emily. Emily is my sister. Oh, your sister? Wait, you're saying your sister is a bad babysitter? Yeah, I'm really grateful for her help when I need it because she is in town right now and she's been helping me out a ton. But? But, and this is a big but. I can smell the but coming. Hang on, I got to get this photo ready to show you guys. I left her with my children. alone for exactly 42 minutes on Monday night while I hopped on a Zoom call with the other room moms for Lucy's class. We're planning the holiday party. And when I was done, I found my four-year-old son. He had either, I think Lucy had drawn on him and he had drawn on himself a full mustache, beard, eyebrows, hair under his armpits, chest hair, a happy trail, hair on his arms with He even put a happy trail on? Look it. It goes all the way down to his balls. Look at that kid.

02:12:55 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 2:

That kid is...

02:12:56 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 1:

So I was like, why did you let him do this? And she's like, well, I thought it was funny. I'm like...

02:13:02 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

Like father, like son. He's got the hair on his chest.

02:13:05 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 1:

Trust me, Andrew's that hairy.

02:13:06 - 02:13:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh, but that wasn't even like I left him alone for a minute. Look what happened.

02:13:10 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 1:

No, she was adding him on. And then Lucy had drawn hair under her armpits as well. And my sister is like very crunchy, very, I call her crunchy, like very all natural, everything. And so then Lucy gave me this speech about Aunt Emmy told me that I should never shave the hair under my armpits. And this is what it will look like. And I'm like, Emily, she's seven. Why are you doing this?

02:13:32 - 02:13:36 | Speaker 2:

Is that also why Smith put hair all over the place?

02:13:36 - 02:13:38 | Speaker 1:

I mean, the kid went right in the shower.

02:13:39 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 2:

Listen to these text messages that are coming in about that Reddit thread. But in all caps, the mom should have responded to the text, two exclamation points.

02:13:49 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 1:

Oh, God, yes.

02:13:50 - 02:14:16 | Speaker 2:

Another one here, 419 says, I don't understand why she continued to babysit when she's late all the time. I agree. I don't get that. Like, to me, you know, and maybe it was a case of it doesn't say how many times she's actually babysat. But after the first time, okay, second time it happens again, all right, I ain't going back anymore. Right. You go back after that, you know, it's your fault for going back.

02:14:16 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 1:

When you guys have a babysitter and you don't have babysitters for your kids anymore. Okay, Mike, if you get a babysitter for the kids and your kids are essentially the same ages as mine, like, I'm, like, checking in all the time.

02:14:26 - 02:14:39 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Yeah, yeah. Usually the babysitters will send even, like, pictures and stuff. Chelsea. Oh, they're doing this. I'm always saying, like, how are they doing? How are they? Yeah, right. That would annoy me as the husband when Chelsea would check in. I'd be like, let them go, you know.

02:14:39 - 02:14:40 | Speaker 1:

I know, but those are your babies.

02:14:41 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:14:41 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 1:

I mean...

02:14:42 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 2:

Whatever. I'd be this mom. I'd be this mom out all night. By the way, what is she doing all night? She must have met some dude.

02:14:49 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 1:

She's hooking up with a guy.

02:14:50 - 02:14:51 | Speaker 2:

She's gotta be, right?

02:14:51 - 02:14:52 | Speaker 1:

Or a girl.

02:14:52 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 2:

Whatever. Yeah. And by the way, the first example she gave of brunch where the mom came or, you know, she...

02:15:00 - 02:15:39 | Speaker 1:

babysitter came at 11 o'clock and she didn't get home till seven. That's a hell of a brunch. That's a really long brunch. And the second or the second example she gave, the one that she called the Department of Children and Family Services, she was only supposed to be babysitting from such and such time. I think it was like six o'clock till what, 9 p.m. And she was supposed to be gone by 9 p.m. If you don't come back till the next morning when you're supposed to be home by 9 p.m., like that's the most irresponsible thing. And you don't check in with your kids, the entire time, like Shannon's saying, you're going out for a short period of time you're checking in with your kids. That long of a period of time to say, I'm checking in, I would be, like you said, worried that something happened to her.

02:15:39 - 02:15:52 | Speaker 4:

And to the people on Reddit who were saying, how dare the babysitter do that? What if the mom was involved in a court case or something? Well, if you're involved in a court case, you probably shouldn't have been doing that. Right? Like, then it just further proves whatever.

02:15:53 - 02:15:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I do feel bad that she's got the kids taken away from her.

02:15:59 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 4:

Oh, she did? I missed that part of the story.

02:16:03 - 02:16:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, they took him away from her.

02:16:05 - 02:16:07 | Speaker 4:

I thought they just investigated or something.

02:16:07 - 02:16:17 | Speaker 1:

No, and Children and Family Service comes. She had to go pick him up at the police station, and then they were taken away while she had to prove that she was a responsible mom. Give us some advice.

02:16:17 - 02:17:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, thank you to everybody who came out to bar crawl with me through Plymouth. It's been a tradition now for like three or four years that I throw this Santa Hat pub crawl. And thanks to Tom, my buddy at Westside Beer Distributing, who along with the whole team there at Stella Artois helped me arrange it because it's a big undertaking to actually walk into these small bars with like 70 people wearing Santa hats being obnoxious. But it was a lot of fun, and I love hanging out and drinking with our listeners every time I get the chance. And in this group was a little gaggle of girls that came after work and joined me for the pub crawl. And among the other womanly secrets these girls were sharing, They told me, and this is what I want to ask the girls on the show if this is true. They told me that you can tell how much a girl likes you based on how hard she presses her boobs against you when you get a hug. Oh, come on. And I was like, excuse me? And they said if you hug someone, hello or goodbye, many women, you know, especially if someone you just met, they're leaving space between bodies or they might just lean forward, contact shoulders. but they said if they press their entire torso against you and their chest against you, they really like you. That's a little flirting going on. So is that a thing? Or are these girls completely out of left field with this?

02:17:32 - 02:17:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, I have no boobs. I have absolutely no boobs, so it's like I don't really know how to answer that question. But I feel like if you're pulling away from a guy, yeah, you don't really want to touch him. You're just doing like a courtesy hug.

02:17:44 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 2:

I never really thought of the contact zone of what was touching. I thought more of lingering how long you're hugging so you let go.

02:17:51 - 02:17:56 | Speaker 1:

So both of you guys are saying that you don't have large boobs, so you don't do this.

02:17:56 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 4:

No, we have zero boobs. Okay.

02:17:57 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 1:

I'm speaking for you.

02:17:58 - 02:18:00 | Speaker 3:

I mean, you can see, so you guys.

02:18:00 - 02:18:04 | Speaker 1:

Megan's not here to talk from the boob perspective, I guess.

02:18:04 - 02:18:07 | Speaker 3:

Correct. This is the wrong day to do this topic. Yeah, it really is. Wait, hold on.

02:18:08 - 02:18:13 | Speaker 1:

Megan took the day off. Lydia, not that I've noticed, but Lydia. We've heard.

02:18:13 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 3:

Not boobs. Some people might say. Lydia's got enough for the two of us. Come on. Yeah, and I even had a reduction, low key.

02:18:20 - 02:18:28 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so Lydia, question for you. Is this a thing? If you press your boobs against a person, that means that you actually are interested?

02:18:28 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 3:

I think more of a good long embrace, but I don't know about the boobs.

02:18:32 - 02:18:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So it has to do with the amount of time more so than the actual, like, pushing harder, so to speak.

02:18:39 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 4:

You know how you can tell when somebody doesn't, when you don't really love someone, is when they do the pat, pat, pat during the hug. That, I don't know why, gets me going.

02:18:50 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 1:

And the bro hug, too.

02:18:52 - 02:18:58 | Speaker 4:

It doesn't even matter if I'm hugging a girl or if I'm hugging a guy. If I get the pat, pat, pat, I'm like, oh, they don't hug me.

02:18:58 - 02:19:02 | Speaker 2:

Some people don't know how to hug either. They were never hugged as children.

02:19:02 - 02:19:11 | Speaker 3:

Or if they're going in for a hug and they're like, no, their arms are to their sides. They're just like, oh, yeah, how are you? And they're not reciprocating the hug back.

02:19:11 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 4:

What if they hug you and they sniff your hair at the same time?

02:19:14 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was going to ask you. What about the girl? She also cupped my butt cheeks while she was hugging me. What does that mean?

02:19:20 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 1:

My thing that bothers me, you talk about bad huggers. My thing that bothers me is my kids were all grown up to be great huggers because my dad was a great hugger and he used to always say, come in here. I want a big hug. And then they go through a period of their life, which I like to call the preteen to just starting to be a teenager time, where they don't want to hug anymore. Yeah. And I got to like, get in here. Come on. Yeah. I love a good hug. Got to give a good hug.

02:19:46 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 2:

But also poor teenagers always have to deal with like the aunt coming at them. They're going to make a big sloppy wet kiss with their hairy mustache, aunt mustache. It's just nothing's worse when you're a teenager. You don't want physical contact, let alone aunts and uncles giving.

02:20:00 - 02:20:04 | Speaker 3:

You had an aunt with a mustache? Oh, yeah. It would tickle every time she would kiss me.

02:20:05 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 2:

By the way, this does not play for guys and them pushing their junk up against you, too. Yeah, that's called assault. Yeah. That right there, you call 911.

02:20:15 - 02:20:18 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, boys. There's a double standard, and it's in place for a reason.

02:20:18 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 2:

I'm trying to think of people that have done this, because we were out last week. We did that fundraiser at Red Robin. I got more hugs that night. I'm going to tell you this. We were definitely not socially distancing at that thing. No. Thank God, because I had more people hugging me. I gave a hug to KP's grandparents, not knowing it was her grandma and her grandpa. You lifted her off the ground. And her grandma has gone through some health issues. And I feel like such an a-hole right now that I did that to her. She was okay. She was all right with that? She was fine, yeah.

02:20:50 - 02:20:53 | Speaker 5:

I smelled like a Macy's counter when I walked away from Red Rimeon.

02:20:53 - 02:20:54 | Speaker 2:

I know.

02:20:54 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 1:

I'm serious. I smelled like everybody's body spray and perfume and shampoo because we hugged. By the way, I love hugging, but we hugged so many people.

02:21:02 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 4:

I smelled like armpits because my deodorant stopped working.

02:21:06 - 02:21:07 | Speaker 2:

Helena, what's up?

02:21:07 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So I heard you guys were talking about, you know, like having big boobs and like the predictor there. I have size F and it's like whether or not I'm into the person, you can't even tell because my boobs are just against them the entire time.

02:21:24 - 02:21:33 | Speaker 3:

Ah, okay. So Megan's not here to speak for the larger chested women, but she may say it might be read wrong because obviously to give any hug, she has to press her boobs into you.

02:21:34 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 1:

Yep. Okay. See, I've always thought it's just been how many arms do you use? Do you use one arm? Do you use two arms? Because the one-arm hug, you know. Like, you definitely know. Yeah, they don't like you. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that is a good one.

02:21:45 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 4:

Jed gave me a one-arm hug this morning.

02:21:47 - 02:21:47 | Speaker 2:

Who did?

02:21:47 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 4:

Jed.

02:21:48 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really?

02:21:49 - 02:21:52 | Speaker 4:

But was that the first time you guys were meeting? Yeah, that is the first time we met. Yeah.

02:21:52 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

So maybe he's just trying to be cautious.

02:21:54 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. He doesn't want to be, like, two arms means it's too friendly.

02:21:58 - 02:22:10 | Speaker 2:

No, his other hand was stealing your wallet. Probably. I wouldn't let that guy hug me at all. I've got to tell you, there's been many a times where I'm like, did you brush your teeth this morning? Come on, man. You get away from me here right now, Jedediah.

02:22:10 - 02:22:19 | Speaker 3:

Some texters are saying that it's okay if seniors give you the 2-3 pat, like seniors pat you like a child, and it's a very southern thing someone else is saying from 843.

02:22:19 - 02:22:21 | Speaker 2:

Interesting. What's happening, Kim?

02:22:21 - 02:22:24 | Speaker 8:

Hey, guys, how are we doing this morning?

02:22:24 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic. We're wondering if when a woman hugs you and they linger with a hug, does that mean they like you more?

02:22:32 - 02:22:40 | Speaker 8:

I don't think that, but I can tell you what my wife does. She's got bigger boobs, and she does that Christian side hug thing.

02:22:41 - 02:22:47 | Speaker 3:

The side hug? What do you mean? Christian side hug. You're, like, hip-checking, so you're not making contact? You're leaving room for your guardian angel? What's that mean?

02:22:47 - 02:22:50 | Speaker 8:

It's kind of, like, hunched over hugging, but not really.

02:22:51 - 02:23:04 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, you're leaving room for the Lord. That's what you're doing. Right. Okay. And she does that with you? Not with me. Okay. That's with people she kind of sort of likes. Oh. Wait. I was just joking and everybody agreed with that.

02:23:04 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're leaving room for the Lord. Spill the tea, Tim.

02:23:06 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 2:

No, that's true, though. That's what they said. They would say that in school. Oh, really? They would say leave room to make the sign of the cross. Yeah. Yeah.

02:23:12 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 4:

Tim, who does she not like? Spill the tea.

02:23:16 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 8:

Basically everyone. Okay. Yeah. I like that.

02:23:20 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 2:

And who does she like that she's been lingering more with?

02:23:23 - 02:23:23 | Speaker 8:

Of course.

02:23:24 - 02:23:28 | Speaker 2:

Me, of course. Yeah. Of course. All right. Nobody else, though, thank God. What's up, Doreen? Hi.

02:23:29 - 02:23:30 | Speaker 6:

Good morning, guys. Good morning.

02:23:30 - 02:23:31 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

02:23:32 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 6:

So Shannon was saying how she can tell when somebody doesn't like her, when they give her the pat on the back. Yeah. When they give her a hug. I won't even hug anybody I don't like, but I do, I mean, if I don't like someone, I won't even give them like a wave but i every time i hug someone i like pat and like kind of like rub their back like that's just what i do and that means like not that i like you but i mean it's not a pat it's a rub you actually will rub it's like yeah i always i get what you mean yeah not in a

02:24:05 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 2:

creepy way i like that i like that you won't even hug you if you don't like you what do you do to

02:24:10 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 6:

turn down how do you do that how do you turn it down like hey like maybe like a wave or like Like, uh, maybe not.

02:24:18 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

Okay. All right.

02:24:19 - 02:24:20 | Speaker 3:

I like when a woman burps me.

02:24:22 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 2:

Jasmine, you actually say you don't like the pats. Is that right?

02:24:26 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 7:

No, my dad does that. He's like the awkward person. He literally, when we depart each other, will pat me. And I will tell him, do not pat me like I'm your friend. I'm your child. Hug me. Embrace me. It drives me crazy.

02:24:39 - 02:24:41 | Speaker 2:

Give me love like you actually care.

02:24:42 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 5:

I love when I get a really good hug and my back cracks. that's a good hug. Really? I'm serious.

02:24:47 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 2:

Like a Tony Travato hug, our boss. Just like a good squeeze. Yeah. What's up, Bailey?

02:24:53 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I just wanted to say, I don't think it's the whole boob thing either because I have to agree with one of the callers previously. I have...

02:25:00 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 4:

a size F, so I totally understand, like, you can't judge by that. It is definitely the length of the hug. Okay.

02:25:08 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 3:

Okay, the length. Greg says it's not the boob hug. Is that right?

02:25:14 - 02:25:18 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's not the boob hug. It's the boob touch.

02:25:19 - 02:25:20 | Speaker 1:

The boob touch. I'm sorry, what?

02:25:20 - 02:25:32 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like, so if a girl's talking to you, you're not hugging, and she all of a sudden touches you with her boob, accidentally, then that's flirting.

02:25:32 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 1:

How close are you getting when you're just talking? I mean, it's a close talker.

02:25:35 - 02:25:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, how close is she getting?

02:25:37 - 02:25:38 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:25:38 - 02:25:43 | Speaker 4:

It depends how much she wants to flirt with you. And if you feel her boots touching you, then that's the flirt.

02:25:43 - 02:25:47 | Speaker 3:

How many of these women have come up to you that were strangers, complete strangers?

02:25:49 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, this was a long time ago, back in my dating days. But it happens.

02:25:53 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 3:

It happens. You must be a good-looking guy.

02:25:55 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, where are you going where girls are like, hey, come here a second. Yeah, let me just rub up on you. I don't think that's a hint, really. That's just, she's, yeah. I heard if you touch your collarbone, that kind of shows that you're interested. Like, if you're playing with your hair or if you're touching, like, your chest. Body language. Yeah. Or if you dial 911, I know you're not interested.

02:26:13 - 02:26:14 | Speaker 3:

Dion, what's up?

02:26:15 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 5:

What's up, man? How y'all doing this morning?

02:26:17 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 3:

We're fantastic, Dion. What do the ladies do to you, Dion?

02:26:20 - 02:26:40 | Speaker 5:

Oh, man, I worked at a restaurant I used to serve at. Every time, there was this particular girl who I liked, who I thought was pretty. And every time I leaned in for a hug, she would lean in one, like, one arm and give me that little rub, that little pat on the back, like the ladies were saying. Kind of like, you know, I don't want to give you no hug. Like, you're a creep. Like, stay away like I was a germ or COVID.

02:26:41 - 02:26:42 | Speaker 4:

That's mad.

02:26:43 - 02:26:45 | Speaker 3:

She didn't like Dion that much, did she?

02:26:45 - 02:26:52 | Speaker 5:

No. No, no, she didn't care for me. I think it might have been my cologne. We don't hold hands.

02:26:52 - 02:26:53 | Speaker 4:

It's not that we're against PDAs.

02:26:54 - 02:27:00 | Speaker 5:

We're just always holding our phones. This is Mojo in the Morning. You're home with the phone scans.

02:27:00 - 02:27:01 | Speaker 2:

War of the Roses.

02:27:01 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 5:

And the Dirty of the 30.

02:27:03 - 02:27:04 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning.

02:27:04 - 02:27:10 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Your friend could possibly be on a second date update. You gotta tell the story.

02:27:10 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 2:

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how this happens. So I see a girlfriend of mine on Saturday that I haven't seen in a really long time. And she's single. She's dating. She's been single for quite some time. She's using all the dating apps to meet guys. And no shame at all. She'll go out sometimes on a few dates with different guys each week. She's also, and this is an important part of the story, she's in an industry kind of like ours where she's meeting a ton of people on a weekly basis, tons of different people and networking and creating relationships. So there's just lots of people in and out of her life all the time. So about a week and a half ago, she gets a text from someone named Dave asking her if she wanted to grab dinner. and she was like I obviously know this person she assumed through work because she said when she meets somebody on a dating app she'll put that like in the notes section of their contact info or whatever so she's like Dave okay Dave must be cool I have his number in his phone in my phone no clue who he is sure I'll meet him for dinner so she shows up at the restaurant and the guy that's sitting there is actually a guy she went out on several dates with like four or five years ago. He came out of the woodwork, texted her. She didn't remember who he was. And then they reconnected. But she said she showed up and she was like, wait, Dave, Dave knew exactly who he was. It's funny because I will get calls sometimes

02:28:41 - 02:28:59 | Speaker 3:

and it will be like Todd. Right. And I don't know who's Todd it is like which Todd because I don't So I've been putting now Todd met at Red Coat. You know, Todd from, you know, Comcast Cable. You know what I mean?

02:28:59 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, and she said that's what she'll do now is she'll write like Todd, Todd, Hinge, Red Robin.

02:29:04 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 3:

Real quick, how many dates is she going on?

02:29:07 - 02:29:07 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

02:29:08 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 3:

That's a lot of dates.

02:29:09 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:29:10 - 02:29:12 | Speaker 3:

She's a very active, an active dater.

02:29:12 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 2:

Well, it was so funny, too, because she said she sat down and she's like, oh, it's just you. You could have just invited me over to your house. I wouldn't have gotten all doweled up. I would have showed up in sweats. Like, I already impressed you.

02:29:23 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 3:

So she admitted to him that she didn't know that it was him. Right. That's funny. Do you remember what this story reminds me of? What? The Doris story with me.

02:29:31 - 02:29:34 | Speaker 2:

Do you remember the Doris story? One of my favorite stories.

02:29:34 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 3:

So we have, Chelsea and I have a friend of ours who is a masseuse that, you know, works in a, has a massage place, but occasionally she'll come to you and do the massage. no funny business by the way but her name is Doris and she's a very good friend of Chelsea's and Chelsea was going through a time where you know things were a little stressful and I wanted to surprise Chelsea with a massage like out of the blue on a Tuesday she's

02:30:00 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 2:

just sitting there on the couch with me watching, you know, Chicago PD. And then all of a sudden, here comes a massage to the house. Well, the doorbell rings. I walk to the door, and it's Doris from the United Way who shows up. And what I had done was I had texted and I said, hey, would you be able to come over on Tuesday so I can surprise Chelsea? She answered back, Doris from the United Way. I would love to. It would be so much fun to come over. And I said, oh, that sounds like Doris, because our Doris would be that excited about coming over and stuff like this. And Doris from the United Way came over, and she thought that I was inviting her over to just kind of hang out.

02:30:43 - 02:30:51 | Speaker 3:

Most people could go through their entire life without knowing one Doris. You know two. I know two Dorises. Dari, I think is the plural. That's a Dari, exactly.

02:30:51 - 02:30:56 | Speaker 4:

Were you in a bathrobe or something strange? I've never asked you that. No, because I was not getting the massage.

02:30:57 - 02:31:04 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea was going to get the massage. Which, by the way, the way that I put it to Doris, I said to her, I go, did you think we were asking for a threesome? She goes, no, I thought I was coming over for dinner or something.

02:31:04 - 02:31:05 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

02:31:05 - 02:31:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I felt so bad. Oh, my God. And I didn't want to, like, I didn't know how to tell Chelsea, because remember, I told her it was going to be a surprise. Or, you know, I said to Doris, you know. That's great. But to go back to Dave for a second here.

02:31:19 - 02:31:28 | Speaker 4:

Like, have you ever sewed up to a date, and it's somebody that you knew? Like, maybe you were set up on a blind date or something, and then you show up at the restaurant or bar. I hear those apps do sometimes.

02:31:28 - 02:31:30 | Speaker 3:

Those apps keep suggesting the same people sometimes.

02:31:31 - 02:32:06 | Speaker 2:

Or has somebody ever used a, maybe, I don't know, maybe they were catfishing a little bit, and they used another person's profile picture, you showed up at the date, and then it's somebody that you actually knew. Recognize, yeah. Yeah, recognize. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Go back to this, because Ellen and Megan, I know you guys will sometimes complain about the lack of good people on these dating sites. You need to figure out where Shannon's friend is going, or maybe her standards are a little different. You guys have higher standards.

02:32:06 - 02:32:08 | Speaker 5:

Maybe she looks like a supermodel.

02:32:08 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 2:

She's going on a lot of dates.

02:32:10 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, she is.

02:32:11 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 2:

That is like, I was waiting for Megan through that entire story when you were telling about her going on all those dates to go.

02:32:17 - 02:32:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, good for you.

02:32:19 - 02:32:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm trying to be respectful. I was trying to listen to the story. It was in the back of my mind.

02:32:25 - 02:32:30 | Speaker 2:

Can she share a couple of Daves? Throw a Dave my way, please.

02:32:30 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, now I hate her. What is this? She's taking all the men. It's not fair.

02:32:35 - 02:32:40 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. What is that first text? It's too long for me to read. My reading skills are not that.

02:32:40 - 02:32:57 | Speaker 4:

She said, this person says, I'm the exact same as your friend. I can never remember who anyone is that I date. So I started putting their Instagram handles in my note section. and I always save a picture to their contact, even if it's from a dating app. I just steal the pictures. That's really smart. But that's genius.

02:32:58 - 02:33:00 | Speaker 5:

That's really smart. It's a lot of work, but

02:33:00 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 2:

it's smart. That's someone that's really organized. You know what I mean? Yeah. That's someone that actually does every update on their phone and downloads things to the cloud whenever they can.

02:33:10 - 02:33:19 | Speaker 1:

That's somebody that has apps in a folder, all grouped together in a specific place. This is my social media apps. This is my contacts.

02:33:20 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 2:

But that also is someone that dates a lot of people if you're doing that. But I'm strange. If you're doing that, you've got a lot of dates that you've been going on. Another texter here says, oh, my God, the wrong Dave. I had the wrong Doug. Went to visit or go see a friend of mine at a bar only to realize that I invited my friend's dad out for drinks. He thought a whole bunch of us were going out and didn't realize that he was coming by himself. What's going on, Rory? How you doing?

02:33:52 - 02:33:53 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you?

02:33:54 - 02:33:54 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's up?

02:33:55 - 02:34:19 | Speaker 5:

I was calling. So I was on a website for people that like kinky cookie baking, you know, that kind of stuff. Really? And I got a friend request from my best friend in high school, her mom. Apparently, she was like, she did it professionally. it was like she was a very prominent figure in the community and she friend requested me to like

02:34:19 - 02:34:27 | Speaker 2:

know that i had a friend wow wow did you ever tell your friend about yeah and her my friend

02:34:27 - 02:34:32 | Speaker 5:

knew i told her and she was like oh yeah my mom does that to all my friends that she finds

02:34:32 - 02:34:43 | Speaker 2:

oh my gosh that's pretty uh that's pretty wild would you i'm mortified would you have ever suspected that your friend's mom would be kinky like that?

02:34:44 - 02:34:50 | Speaker 5:

No, truthfully, because I didn't see her very much and she did not give off that vibe at all.

02:34:51 - 02:35:20 | Speaker 1:

Like, help a sister out. What was the website? Make sure he has a big frame This is Mojo in the Morning It is the Mojo in the Morning show No, I'm butting up against a possible guest here in a second So I'm trying to time this out I'm laughing because Spike's stomach is so loud

02:35:20 - 02:35:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, really? My stomach growled, you could hear it from a mile away

02:35:23 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 1:

I'm glad that you're getting made fun of for the noises I have been having such bad gas lately that it's at the point now where I'll walk and fart at the same time. Is it something different you're eating?

02:35:42 - 02:35:43 | Speaker 2:

I can't believe I'm asking you this.

02:35:44 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 1:

I was just telling Ellen this a second ago because we had Bar Verona in here. I'm having a hard time with spicy foods since I had COVID. Oh, really? Yeah, I never had any issues with spicy foods, but spicy foods now are giving me, I get like, you know, my stomach bothers me every now and again when I get it. Yeah. I guess it's good. It's a good thing to stay away from.

02:36:05 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 2:

Is that why it's so cold in here? Did someone leave the air blasting because you're smelling up the joint?

02:36:09 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 1:

No, you know, it's weird. I swear to my family members this. They don't smell. They're not, and they say.

02:36:18 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 2:

They're just like air farts.

02:36:20 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 1:

It's weird. I have, like, lots of air, maybe, yes, in my system. But they truly don't smell.

02:36:27 - 02:36:27 | Speaker 2:

That's impossible.

02:36:27 - 02:36:39 | Speaker 1:

My family doesn't believe it. They won't stick around to see it. No, there are those. Yeah. There are those. They exist. Like, I always believe that the only time that a fart smells is when you really have to go to the bathroom. You know what I mean?

02:36:39 - 02:36:44 | Speaker 2:

Because the gas is caused by what you eat. It's not just because there's something in there.

02:36:44 - 02:36:49 | Speaker 1:

No, it's because the air is passing by levels of duty.

02:36:49 - 02:36:56 | Speaker 2:

passing gas of bacteria and getting rid of stuff that you i swear to you no it's not just because

02:36:56 - 02:37:13 | Speaker 1:

you got duty hold on call the call michigan medicine they have that be one of my questions this week for the michigan medicine on michigananswers.com i want to ask one of their professional doctors does a fart smell because it passes by duty gas here it is here's

02:37:13 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 2:

the answer from healthline.com gases various farts smell bad tiny amounts of hydrogen carbon dioxide and methane combined with hydrogen sulfide and ammonia all passed by the food you eat yes that's what i mean he's right it no it's not no it's not because you could have nothing in the chamber you could have cleared out and pooped it's caught the large intestine gives the gas it's smell it's i gotta poo it's the gases in your large intestine they smell when they're coming out whether or not now it could change the smell if you're also if you have to go adding to

02:37:50 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 1:

the bouquet if you're potpourri in there is call call up uh uh lee and tell lee uh ellen from our sales department it's his account tell him that michigan medicine needs to answer that question for me i'll let you make that call i come on it's just a simple it's just a simple one i just want to i want to have that they do this michigananswers.com and uh they'll answer any of these questions they'll have like their professionals out there and i've had them answer or ask you know and answers some of these most interesting questions like i thought the one that was good was uh can having a uh a dog actually like lower your blood pressure and do all the rest of that

02:38:31 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 2:

stuff and uh but uh i just reminded that we had dr oz on the show to answer this question for 10 minutes one time he did yes i didn't realize yeah we used to have him on regularly and one of the but i didn't realize we asked this question yeah poop but not that because somebody made a stinky they just clicked on his website and he's answering it and it reminded me of the conversation we had about our farts but he says uh there's many opportunities there's many reasons you're get your body releases gas. Some intestinal gas comes from air you swallow or chewing gum or drinking through a straw or smoking. Others, when your body breaks down the bacteria in the colon, breaking down food, but all the different gases and chemicals are what gives it different smells.

02:39:13 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 1:

734 says Mojo should get another COVID test if he can't smell his farts. I can smell everything else. I just can't for some reason. My farts don't smell. Sophistication, intellect, culture, engaging discussion. You won't find any of that here. That last conversation proves it. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mike from our show is wondering what Allie really meant. His wife is Allie. It's Mojo in the Morning, 844-MOJO-LIVE or text 95500. If you're listening to us on the iHeart stream, don't stop the stream. If you've got a comment, text, and then you'll get a call back from Ellen. So, Mike, is this like a romantic thing or a kinky thing? Or what's the story? Maybe a little bit of both. I don't.

02:40:00 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 2:

don't know my wife sent me a a text of a it's hard to describe it's like a lingerie type of uh lacy almost underwear but it's like it's like a dude's garter slash underwear attached to the same thing with like uh but it's all lacy and red lingerie for men it looks like i've never heard of such a thing yeah it looks like it and it's like my valentine's day gift came early lol and then like there's a bunch of laughing after it, like smiley faces or whatever. And I laughed at it, but then I was like, wait a minute, is she feeling this out? Like, is she really testing the waters to see if I'd be like, yeah, you should get it.

02:40:43 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 3:

Whoa, is this the red thing?

02:40:45 - 02:40:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:40:46 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 1:

Did you send it? Hold on, where is it?

02:40:48 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, he just sent it.

02:40:49 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 1:

He put it in our text. Okay, hold on.

02:40:51 - 02:40:58 | Speaker 3:

I am so confused by this. It's like a red lacy jack strap with garters attached. Yes.

02:40:58 - 02:40:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:40:59 - 02:41:00 | Speaker 3:

That's exactly what it is.

02:41:00 - 02:41:03 | Speaker 1:

I might go in on this with her just to see you have to wear that.

02:41:04 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 2:

It looks like a cup almost.

02:41:07 - 02:41:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's what I mean. Yeah.

02:41:08 - 02:41:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, Mike.

02:41:10 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:41:11 - 02:41:12 | Speaker 1:

Allie wants you to wear this thing, huh?

02:41:12 - 02:41:16 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. I don't think so.

02:41:16 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 1:

Could you fill it all out?

02:41:18 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 2:

The legs.

02:41:22 - 02:41:35 | Speaker 1:

This is wild. Do couples do this? You'll have to call us up. And I know maybe, Mike, you and Allie do this. But do couples do this where they'll buy each other outfits that they think that they would look hot in just to get them to wear it? That's kind of like hot, man.

02:41:35 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 3:

I think it's so hot.

02:41:36 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:41:37 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I don't think that that thing's hot. No, no, I don't. That's really scary.

02:41:40 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's kind of awkward.

02:41:42 - 02:41:43 | Speaker 3:

But I like the idea.

02:41:44 - 02:42:02 | Speaker 1:

But that, but I bet you that the, I bet you it's more guys buying for girls or more girls buying for girls than it is buying for a guy something to wear. Like hair. Although white, you know, what, tank tops or whatever? I was going to say, it's not politically correct anymore to call them, is it?

02:42:02 - 02:42:05 | Speaker 3:

What did you say? White beaters? White beaters? I mean, then everybody knows what they are. Okay.

02:42:06 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 1:

All right. White tank tops.

02:42:08 - 02:42:09 | Speaker 3:

I know. Yeah. Yeah.

02:42:10 - 02:42:15 | Speaker 1:

But women love those, love their guys in those. So maybe you buy them?

02:42:16 - 02:42:18 | Speaker 2:

No. Yeah, no. Not even a little bit.

02:42:19 - 02:42:27 | Speaker 1:

Some women. Chelsea loves me. No, she doesn't love me. I was like, wait, no, she doesn't love me. No, but I always see these women go crazy over guys in those. No. Really?

02:42:29 - 02:42:32 | Speaker 2:

It's like Channing Tatum. It's not the wife beater.

02:42:32 - 02:42:38 | Speaker 3:

That's what I was going to say. I bet you it's guys that could look good wearing anything, wearing a Big Bird costume. I actually hate those.

02:42:38 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 1:

Has anybody ever bought a Big Bird costume for their spouse and asked them to put it on?

02:42:42 - 02:42:44 | Speaker 3:

I bet there is a sexy Big Bird costume.

02:42:45 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah? Oh, for sure. You show that thing off? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

02:42:50 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

Do you buy Allie lingerie?

02:42:52 - 02:43:07 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have before, yeah. I've picked out stuff for her to wear. She'll send me pictures of outfits she likes in the dressing room or whatever, and I'll go, oh, I really like that one, I really like that one. But I've never went out and picked out an entire outfit for her. You should do that. I do like that a lot.

02:43:07 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 1:

Here's the deal. I would go for whatever you think would be something that she would not wear because it might be a little too much. Because if she's making you wear this thing, you can get her to put anything on that night.

02:43:18 - 02:43:23 | Speaker 2:

I mean, if she... You don't think I really wear this, do you?

02:43:23 - 02:43:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, if she buys it for you, she's not buying it for you just to show it around. She wants you to put it on. You're going to at least have to show it to her. I think you should. What's up, Ashley?

02:43:34 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I was just going to say, my husband and I, we buy myself lingerie every month. It's like our fun time together. Well, last year for Christmas, I found it's a wreath underwear for men, and I ordered it. And I was very nervous to tell him that I had bought this because it's out of his comfort zone. Well, he ended up trying it on, and the confidence that he got was so sexy, and now he's actually a huge fan.

02:44:06 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 1:

So wait, so reef, like a Christmas reef?

02:44:09 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 4:

Yes, so it went around.

02:44:12 - 02:44:17 | Speaker 1:

Do you stick your ding-dong through the hole on the reef, or what? Is that what you do?

02:44:17 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 4:

Your ding-dong goes in, yes.

02:44:19 - 02:44:25 | Speaker 1:

Wow. And you say it looks like a reef. It doesn't have the same texture of what a reef would be like, does it?

02:44:25 - 02:44:28 | Speaker 4:

No, no, no. No, it was like cottony.

02:44:29 - 02:44:29 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

02:44:29 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 4:

But maybe that's her reef. I would honestly die.

02:44:32 - 02:44:34 | Speaker 1:

I would die. That would be like.

02:44:35 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 3:

Could you even like perform? Honestly, like you'd feel so silly. Right? I mean, he didn't.

02:44:44 - 02:44:46 | Speaker 1:

He loved it. And he loved it.

02:44:46 - 02:44:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:44:47 - 02:44:48 | Speaker 1:

What does he make you wear?

02:44:48 - 02:44:58 | Speaker 4:

um everything all sorts of things he's the kind of guy that's like the the cute little nighties or just like the strappy things or you know the heel

02:44:58 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

has there been anything that he's

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 2:

asked you to wear that you're like uh-uh I ain't putting that on um so there are these like one

02:45:05 - 02:45:12 | Speaker 7:

piece song like g-string things and those are just they're just very uncomfortable but yeah

02:45:12 - 02:45:27 | Speaker 2:

they just don't stay on as long yeah couples like you guys man you guys last forever seriously yeah the couple the couples that are willing to stick their ding-dongs through reefs That's love Angela what's up

02:45:27 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 9:

Good morning

02:45:29 - 02:45:30 | Speaker 2:

What's going on

02:45:30 - 02:45:42 | Speaker 9:

I think that the only reason she wants Mike to wear this Is so that she can call up later and say What that booty do I know

02:45:42 - 02:45:52 | Speaker 3:

The picture is posted on our Instagram and Facebook I'm still confused by the thing that she sent Mike Because to me it looks more like a women's thing

02:45:52 - 02:46:08 | Speaker 8:

uh lee what's going on hi how are you guys good what's happening good um i just want to say that i buy my husband joggers because you know they look so good women love guys in joggers that is

02:46:08 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 2:

so true ding ding ding yeah that's a big that's a big thing women love guys in joggers and wife

02:46:14 - 02:46:20 | Speaker 1:

beater white no not that the first one yes the second one no no you don't like your guy in a

02:46:20 - 02:46:22 | Speaker 2:

in a tank top, a white tank?

02:46:23 - 02:46:26 | Speaker 8:

Oh, God, that's like 90s. No way.

02:46:26 - 02:46:31 | Speaker 3:

Okay. But I think Mojo likes his guys in it. I do.

02:46:32 - 02:46:42 | Speaker 2:

Eminem would have never got Kim if it wasn't for that wife tank top that he would wear in all his videos. Never would have happened. Alright, well, thank you for the call.

02:46:42 - 02:46:44 | Speaker 8:

We appreciate it. Yes, no problem.

02:46:44 - 02:46:56 | Speaker 2:

Bye-bye. Maybe that whole thing that you did, that charity event that you just did has gotten Allie to really like you, Mike, dressed as a dressed and crossed.

02:46:57 - 02:47:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I don't think I'm a... What do you think? I don't think so. I mean, I guess if it leads to sex, maybe maybe this underwear, but I don't know how far I would take it.

02:47:09 - 02:47:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. She seemed like she was really into it that weekend. Megan, you were there, right? She was into it.

02:47:14 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 5:

She was into something.

02:47:17 - 02:47:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right, we will find out what happens if Mike gets this thing from Amazon. I don't know if she actually bought it or not. Is it same-day delivery on that? Let me look back at that thing that you sent.

02:47:32 - 02:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Is it from Amazon?

02:47:33 - 02:47:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:47:34 - 02:47:36 | Speaker 1:

Don't expect same-day delivery from them anymore.

02:47:37 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 2:

How pissed are you that if you need school supplies for your kids, you can't get those same day, but you can get Mike's frilly ding-dong same day. Like they have those things in stock in your town.

02:47:50 - 02:47:59 | Speaker 4:

What's that smell? Smells like another fresh scam. Another world famous phone scam happens at 950 on Mojo in the Morning.

02:47:59 - 02:48:26 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, your home of the phone scams. Madison is heading back to college. Her mom has been saying how quiet and lonely the house will be. So Madison kept joking to her mom that she was going to sign her up for an exchange student to keep her company. Here's where Spike comes in. We're going to tell Joan it wasn't a joke. They're signed up for a foreign exchange student to live with them. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

02:48:27 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 5:

Yee, yee, yee, yee, yee, I'll scare you.

02:48:31 - 02:48:33 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning phone scams.

02:48:36 - 02:48:38 | Speaker 3:

Hello? Hello, is this Ms. Esposito?

02:48:39 - 02:48:39 | Speaker 6:

Yes.

02:48:40 - 02:48:42 | Speaker 3:

This is Nico, my good friend of Ryan O'Donnell.

02:48:43 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 6:

Who?

02:48:44 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 3:

Ryan O'Donnell.

02:48:45 - 02:48:46 | Speaker 6:

Who's that?

02:48:46 - 02:48:54 | Speaker 3:

He's a guy who lives down in Atlanta, quite a drinker. Listen, I'm calling to let you know Miss Collada is here, and we are just processing her out.

02:48:55 - 02:48:57 | Speaker 6:

I have no idea what you're talking about.

02:48:57 - 02:49:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay, this is Nico from the Student Hosting Exchange of Learning by International Teachers, or SHELIT for short. And I'm ready with your foreign exchange student.

02:49:08 - 02:49:09 | Speaker 6:

My what?

02:49:09 - 02:49:13 | Speaker 3:

You filled out an application to accept a foreign exchange student?

02:49:13 - 02:49:15 | Speaker 6:

I don't know what you're talking about.

02:49:16 - 02:49:25 | Speaker 3:

You're Ms. Madison Esposito? Oh, that's my daughter. And she's not there? No. Okay, well, I just need to know who's coming down to pick up your student.

02:49:25 - 02:49:29 | Speaker 6:

Pick up? I didn't know anything about this.

02:49:29 - 02:49:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you've got foreign exchange students, all been prearranged, signed up to live at your house. You're a host family, ma'am. There's no way. I can't take on a student. Then why would you sign up for it?

02:49:40 - 02:49:44 | Speaker 6:

I didn't, and I'm going to get my daughter on the phone and find out what this is all about.

02:49:44 - 02:49:56 | Speaker 3:

Listen, she came all the way from Mozambique, and before that, she lived in the Republic of Gigi Hadid, where she escaped a horrible civil war. But now she's waiting for her ride. She's the last one left here. All the other students have been picked up.

02:49:56 - 02:49:58 | Speaker 6:

Oh, gosh, this is terrible.

02:50:00 - 02:50:08 | Speaker 5:

I feel terrible about this, but I don't know what to say. Well, you've got to take her in. I don't even know where I'd put her. I have no room.

02:50:08 - 02:50:11 | Speaker 4:

You put her in a bedroom. Your daughter's away. There's a free bedroom.

02:50:12 - 02:50:18 | Speaker 5:

Well, I have to speak to my daughter about this immediately. Okay.

02:50:18 - 02:50:25 | Speaker 4:

I got her here. Not your daughter, but Miss Collada. She wants to say hello. Maybe you can tell her what time you're coming.

02:50:26 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 5:

Miss Collada?

02:50:27 - 02:50:33 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to fix me a big jug of orange and orange juice Kool-Aid with some pineapple juice.

02:50:34 - 02:50:37 | Speaker 5:

I know you came a long way, but I didn't know anything about it.

02:50:37 - 02:50:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, catfish on the booger booger on the sissy on the ride.

02:50:41 - 02:50:56 | Speaker 4:

I think she's a little frustrated. She doesn't know why she's still waiting here for a ride. Oh. Is that right, Miss Kool-Aid? This is weird in the booger booger. Yeah, it is weird. What is she saying? She was saying she likes Kool-Aid. It's a powdered drink mix sold in most grocery stores.

02:50:56 - 02:51:08 | Speaker 5:

I know what Kool-Aid is. I really want to apologize to you. Could you please explain to her why we're not picking her up to come here to my house? I'd really appreciate it.

02:51:08 - 02:51:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, the only thing I could explain is some kind of fraud. I mean, what's your business filling out an application and then refusing to participate once a poor lady comes all the way to the United States?

02:51:17 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 6:

I'm so sorry. I didn't feel like it. Oh, catfish on the booger booger on the sissy on the ride.

02:51:23 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, she is upset. Now, I think you owe her an apology.

02:51:26 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 5:

I apologize, but I think my daughter owes you a bigger apology. I'm really upset with her.

02:51:35 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, the news just keeps getting worse. Look, her younger sister's here now. Oh, my God. That's her sister, Jackie.

02:51:43 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 6:

This is Smoker Jackie, and it's the weekend, bitches.

02:51:47 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, boy. Actually, Joan, this is Spike from the Mojo in the Morning show, and you've just been the victim of a phone scam.

02:51:54 - 02:52:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. Would you believe I haven't even had my cup of coffee yet? Oh, my God.

02:52:04 - 02:52:18 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Okay, just winning. We interrupt this message to tell you that was funny. It's the home of the world-famous phone scams.
