It's showtime. We'll be right back.

00:03:23 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 6:

all right it's mojo on the morning show all right i want to talk about this and i want to ask the question then afterwards why is it that people need to always and no matter what the circumstances invade your space so i went to uh should i say the name of the place or will they get mad at me

00:03:45 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 3:

i endorse it the name of the place has nothing to do with the story though okay yeah so i went

00:03:49 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

to Planet Fitness yesterday and I'm at Planet Fitness and I came from work and I was I was kind of dressed okay so I had I wanted to change into my you know my clothes so I wanted to change into my shorts and my shirt so I go into the locker room and when I go to Planet Fitness it's usually at a time there's nobody at Planet Fitness it's middays right it's like one o'clock two o'clock in the afternoon and you go into the gym or you go into the gym the gym's empty you go into the locker room the locker room is definitely empty and I go inside there to go change my clothes and i'm changing and i'm down literally down with my pants all the way down taking my shirt off i'm standing there my big old hairy body and stuff and i'm changing a guy walks into the locker room with his big old beefy gym bag and he comes sits exactly right next to me like there's this is you guys have been to a planet finish you guys know how big the gym locker rooms are they're very very large you can go to the bathroom you can do everything i mean there's so many places that you could go to the guy chooses to come and sit right next to me i'm like all right whatever this has happened to me before i'm putting my pants on i go and put my shirt on and i go to sit town

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 4:

because I've got to put my hocus back on.

00:05:01 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 3:

Hocus.

00:05:02 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 4:

I sit down on the seat, and I look over next to me, and the guy's D is right there. Like, he's like, yeah.

00:05:11 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

I don't understand men's locker rooms.

00:05:14 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 4:

And I'm going to say this to you. I have no problem with men's genitalia. I've got one. I've seen them before. I'm cool with it. There's nothing wrong with it. I just don't understand. And this is not a topic of why is the guy completely naked in the locker room. this is the topic of and it could go either way why is it that when I go to Kroger and I stand in the line and there's five or six other cash out yourself self checkouts why does the person always have to stand right next to me

00:05:47 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 1:

it drives me crazy for me it's not the locker room and it's not the self check out it's the treadmill that one really drives me nuts

00:05:57 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 4:

They always got to fight for the same treadmill, right?

00:05:58 - 00:06:15 | Speaker 1:

And the only thing I can think in my head is, okay, maybe they have a favorite treadmill, a favorite spot. And so no matter if somebody is right there or not, they are going to that specific one. But I'm always like, why? Especially if I'm the only person on and they come right up next to me. Oh, I don't like that.

00:06:15 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

I hate when you're the only person on and they come up right up next to you. But when it's like mid-level busy at Planet Fitness, I kind of get it only because they have certain things on certain televisions. so you might want to watch something but when the place is empty go two over

00:06:31 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

and again this is not just a Planet Fitness thing

00:06:34 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 2:

no you're right

00:06:35 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

because why is it when I'm in the bathroom in a public restroom say at Ford Field for a Lions game I'm at a urinal why does a guy got to choose the urinal right next to me

00:06:46 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

instead of choosing a urinal two over you can't choose it it's got to be some like human instinct or something inside of us that we gravitate towards other people

00:06:55 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 1:

That's the only logical... You know what else this drives me nuts is in parking lots. Whether it's busy or not busy. If you park and then somebody parks right next to you when you're trying to get out of your car. And get the kids out of the car and open your trunk and somebody's right there.

00:07:12 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 4:

What do they say? Leave a space for the... For Jesus. Yeah. For Jesus? Ethan, what's going on? Why is it that the guy's got to put his D right next to me?

00:07:23 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 7:

I have no idea. Maybe he just doesn't value his own personal space like we do. I've been going through this for the past couple of weeks. I thought it was just a me thing, but I love my personal space. I was just hearing you guys talk about it, but I use the men's journal rule everywhere I go. So I was just at Edge Fitness over on home, and I'm on the stair climbers, and all of them are open. And I make sure that I count out which one I'm on so that everybody can have, like, a space when people come up. And this guy walks up on the one right next to me, like, excuse me, sir, do I smell that good or something?

00:08:07 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 4:

Right. I don't get it. It just does not make any sense, man. It's a personal space thing. Misfit Victor. What's up, Victor?

00:08:17 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 5:

What's up, guys? How are you? Morning, man. Well, I used to work at this restaurant in Commerce, and we had a calendar that had nine empty seats. And one of our customers was sitting at the seat there by himself, and this lady comes in and sits right next to him. And this guy was like my, you know, my heater. He looks right at her and goes, eight bleeping empty seats, and you've got to sit on top of me? And he gets up and moves to the other end of the counter. And she goes, well, I don't bite. He goes, you might. And goes, what?

00:08:57 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 4:

He spoke everything that you wanted to say. By the way, that does happen a lot if you ever sit in counter seating or in a bar. I don't understand that, too. Like, why do they have to take the seat right next to you?

00:09:10 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Prior to, like, Imagine and having, like, reserved seating, He used to go to the movies, and everybody wanted to sneak into the middle and get the closest one. He's getting worse. It's like sit like one row back if you can.

00:09:20 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 4:

What's up, Jason? Or real quick, Jason. In a movie theater, Jason, real quick, back in the day, I hated the guy that would have to sit right behind you or right in front of you. Yes, bro, go away. Like sit one over. What's up, Jason?

00:09:32 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what's going on, Mojo? I feel you on the bathroom thing, man. I can't really remember where I was at but there were like 16 stalls and I was the only guy in there and you know I'm doing my business here comes the guy lo and behold stands right next to me and like turns his head and starts talking to me like dude I don't know you what's going on here and you know what the funny thing is

00:10:00 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

I'm a friendly guy. I'll talk to anybody when you have your pants on. You know what I mean? Yeah. Like, I have no problem, like, you having a conversation with me. But I want to make sure you got your pants on at that particular time. Wait, is this Brian still? Brian, are you calling back again? It's Ryan. Oh, Ryan.

00:10:22 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 6:

Oh, what?

00:10:25 - 00:10:28 | Speaker 4:

You got me scared. I thought it was...

00:10:28 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 6:

Please be single. Please be single.

00:10:29 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

what's up what's up brian yeah so uh in junior high we got like these bathrooms by the lunchroom and uh like there's a urinal right next to like the actual stall and uh and people would always kind of come in and use it while you know i guess i was peeing and i'd get mad and i would you know piss on their pee on their uh their foot as they're using the bathroom i take back the single thing now you want to date him now you want him to be no you missed it i wanted to date him at first

00:10:56 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 6:

and then he said he pees on people. And now I'm out. And as Barbara would say on Shark Tank, I'm out.

00:11:04 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 3:

That's middle school me, you know.

00:11:07 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 6:

I feel like that urge just stays with people, you know what I mean?

00:11:10 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, that's awesome. Thank you for the call, buddy.

00:11:13 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 6:

It's a shower.

00:11:14 - 00:11:14 | Speaker 4:

Bye.

00:11:15 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 1:

00:11:47 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 6:

Back to Mojo in the morning.

00:11:49 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo on the Morning Show, phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, text 95500. If you call the show, we'd love to know if you're a first time, long time. If you're a texter, know that we will call you and ask you to come on and make that comment on the radio. Shannon, you were out, was it yesterday that you were out? Yep. And went to a place that reminded Wes of something.

00:12:12 - 00:12:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, so we, Wes and I had a little, you guys know how much I hate the term date night, but we did have a hot date.

00:12:17 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 4:

Actually, wasn't it a date early evening?

00:12:19 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 2:

It was a date early evening. It was a 5.15 dinner reservation. But that's actually because this restaurant, I've been wanting to go there for years and years. And I'll shut them out. It's called Lady of the House. It's in Detroit. It's like five minutes from this radio station. But they are so hard to get into for a great reason. Because it was top five dinners I've ever, ever had in the city. But it was phenomenal. So props to Chef Kate and everybody over there. But we were on our way there. And I've never been there before. But I said to Wes, who made the reservation, I'm like, oh, have you ever, have you ever been to this place before? And he got this smile on his face and I'm like, ooh, there's a story. And he said, well, I have kind of, when he, after he got divorced and he first started dating, he said that he got set up, I think it was like a blind date. And so he agreed to meet this girl at the bar, at this restaurant, at Lady of the House. And he said when he got there, he very quickly realized that she had been drinking, like had gone to a happy hour or something beforehand and was completely wasted off of her mind. And so he said it was to the point where he couldn't even like sit down and have a date with her. And so he was like, I think that we need to get you home. So he ended up taking her. He's like, I didn't even trust an Uber to get her, like, back to her. So they left her car, and he had to drive her home, drop her off, and that was it. They never ended up going out on a date ever again. That's so embarrassing. She, he said she reached out a couple of months later and, like, apologized and wanted to see if they could, you know, strike something up again. And he was like, no, I'm good. Was she just nervous, and that was the deal you think? I don't know, but he said she was absolutely sloshed. And so that was his memory of that restaurant.

00:14:11 - 00:14:26 | Speaker 4:

What do you do if you go out on a date with somebody that you just met on Hinge or Bumble or whatever, and they're so wasted? Like, honestly, at some point, I'd be like, I would try to put them in their own Uber, but I'd be afraid to, because I wouldn't want to even take them home, because I'd be afraid something, you know?

00:14:27 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 5:

Well, remember that second date update we did just a couple of weeks ago where the guy had six drinks in two hours on their date? Like, it's scary.

00:14:35 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so here's a question. 844 Mojo Live. has anybody had their date be so drunk and they felt like all of a sudden their date turned into them literally doing a sobriety thing with them trying to figure out what's up Zach

00:14:48 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

I will definitely chime in because this happened to me a couple days ago been on a few dates with the same person and they got drunk like five times in a row so I've been on five dates with the same person

00:15:00 - 00:15:11 | Speaker 4:

person and she gets drunk every single time she gets drunk every single time so we went to a wedding uh she was like blacked out uh we went to a nice like chop house restaurant she got blacked

00:15:11 - 00:15:22 | Speaker 5:

out and i'm like after yeah after the fourth time i was like all right when you say this blacked out in i'd love to know from west like the amount of drinks how many drinks are you drinking to get

00:15:22 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 4:

blacked out before the uh so she's coming drunk so she came drunk and i was like why what's going on she's like oh i had a few drinks beforehand and i'm like oh dude let's let's not let's like

00:15:34 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 5:

like let's not go out what sounds like an issue yeah wait so what is so you've done this you said how many times now uh it was our fifth one like last week couple weeks what is so why are you

00:15:45 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 4:

going for five what is the story that she was going through like some things um well she is going through some things but like i felt bad so i was like okay let's try it again next month and then she came drunk again and I was like okay let's try again next month

00:16:01 - 00:16:11 | Speaker 5:

question for you I would ask this to anybody that has this happen when you do this and you're out with them and now it goes from a date to babysitting

00:16:11 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 4:

so out of the five times two out of the five she's thrown up oh my god you're still there with her when she's thrown up not anymore we're not talking anymore but like I had to talk to my therapist and be like what should I do about this like it's not really my responsibility she said it's not my responsibility and she needs to see someone but like I can't be the one to tell her to see someone which is why it's not my place man let me ask you a quick question

00:16:44 - 00:16:56 | Speaker 5:

so you got to do an intervention with a girl you just met on five days this is the reason I don't want to go out with you anymore maybe yeah were you were you sticking around because the sex was actually kind of good or something or

00:16:56 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 4:

what was the sex was was pretty good yeah but i mean no i i did feel bad too because she's going through some stuff so i'm like well let's trauma bond let's hang out like let's let's talk about

00:17:09 - 00:17:22 | Speaker 5:

it but uh can i say this though this is the thing that would be interesting whenever they come around and they ask you hey do you want another drink you want another drink at some point and you're guy that's mindful of your your money yeah at some point are you kind of like no you know well

00:17:22 - 00:17:35 | Speaker 4:

we don't want any more drinks i try not to like after she's come drunk we don't go to get more drinks yeah you want some food let's order a pizza after she comes drunk it's your turn yeah well um

00:17:35 - 00:17:40 | Speaker 1:

and that's what the situation was with west she this girl would they didn't even have the date

00:17:40 - 00:17:58 | Speaker 5:

because she was so drunk before the date oh my god all right does this question does this run for high too because i wonder how many times people have gone out on dates with somebody that was like blazed i've never seen someone throw up while high but but it's not that though it's just that they're incoherent yeah i mean come on i've seen some people that are like they're

00:17:58 - 00:18:16 | Speaker 2:

basically spaceships before i took too much of an edible that was my bad apparently you're not supposed to eat edibles from a frat house basement in bg bad idea bad idea but i think in general it's just a bad conversation it's not like you're scared for the person's health hey dana what's up

00:18:16 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 3:

hey so i want to tell you about a first date i went on yeah go ahead hi hello yeah we hear you yeah so i it was one o'clock in the afternoon and i met him and uh he is he was so drunk and he kept looking at my boobs telling me how big they were and he just wanted to touch them and I was like, okay, you need to calm down. I like your boobies. But he would not stop and he was making like the hand grabs, like as if he was

00:18:56 - 00:18:58 | Speaker 5:

grabbing them. Motorboat? You played the motorboat?

00:18:58 - 00:19:00 | Speaker 3:

And I got up and left. Wow.

00:19:00 - 00:19:02 | Speaker 5:

But you're saying, was he drunk?

00:19:02 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, he was hammered.

00:19:03 - 00:19:07 | Speaker 5:

So it wasn't like he was just a horny. This guy was drunk and he was...

00:19:07 - 00:19:10 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Wow. You said one o'clock in the afternoon.

00:19:11 - 00:19:15 | Speaker 4:

One in the afternoon. Was it like on a Sunday for the Lions game or like...

00:19:15 - 00:19:17 | Speaker 3:

It was on Memorial weekend.

00:19:17 - 00:19:27 | Speaker 5:

Oh, so it was a party weekend. Well, but that's weird though that, you know, you get that drunk. Do you feel bad and feel like you have to drive him home or do you just let him be?

00:19:28 - 00:19:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I let him be. First off, I was not going to let him in my car.

00:19:31 - 00:19:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. You don't want a drunk guy that's sitting there trying to grab your boobs in there. I know. That sucks, too, because you don't want the guy to get behind the wheel of a car, but is it your responsibility if you're out with him? I don't know. Roy, what's up? What's up, man?

00:19:45 - 00:19:52 | Speaker 4:

First time all the time. Hey, hey, Roy's on the phone. Roy Jones. Who? Roy Jones. Roy Jones.

00:19:56 - 00:19:58 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, Roy?

00:19:58 - 00:20:11 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. I was just... Had a comment on the same situation. Yeah. It was just we were smoking weed. Like, I was dating a girl. I really liked her. But she could not function without weed. Agitated all the time.

00:20:12 - 00:20:22 | Speaker 2:

And so, would you find out that if she wasn't high, she wasn't functional? But if she was high, she was almost too functional.

00:20:22 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 4:

She was more active and talkative when she wasn't high and more fun.

00:20:25 - 00:20:25 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:20:26 - 00:20:41 | Speaker 4:

And then she, like, shut down. Was there a point, though, where it got too much? Yeah, it was just a turn off. I used to smoke, but, I mean, not to the point I needed it to vibe and hang out.

00:20:41 - 00:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Can I tell you something, though? I wonder how many guys, or I'm sure it's more women, hate when the guy smells or the girl smells like weed.

00:20:50 - 00:21:01 | Speaker 7:

Is that even a thing anymore? I know some people do, and some people prefer to consume that way, but i feel like those vape pens are way more popular oh my god megan i smell it in intersections

00:21:01 - 00:21:06 | Speaker 2:

of cars so do i yeah i'm like this is crazy you gotta your body's gotta smell but i don't feel

00:21:06 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 6:

like it's as prevalent as it probably could be with the legalization since we've been in eastern

00:21:11 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 2:

market man i feel like i've literally had it on my body and i don't and i'm not doing it what's

00:21:16 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 5:

up robin hi hi uh well we have this friend that we've known for probably 30 40 years that his wife passed away two years ago and recently he started dating a woman that every time we see her she's drunk she can't walk he's like oh we're out bar hopping and he never drank so it was strange but getting to know her we you know he's like oh she'll get over it i'm helping her on it he goes how do you like her i go i don't know her to like her she's always drunk and she's very nice but you don't know her and then he goes oh come on up to the bowling alley with us we go up there and she's already wasted when we get there she can't talk she's slurring there's stuff coming out of her mouth he's trying to feed her and we're walking out and she's he's a babysitter yeah he kept trying yeah and we had everybody looking and i was just so embarrassed and my husband's like never again we're not doing this again she's always drunk it's embarrassing and i you know he says to me what do you think i go your hands fall i go i don't understand that this isn't you he goes well sometimes you get with someone you start to become like them interesting yeah i wonder if

00:22:25 - 00:23:03 | Speaker 2:

that does happen i wonder it's also not good in this case yeah you're hanging out with them i i will say this at that the throw up drunk is bad the angry obnoxious drunks worse though yeah like throw up drunk sucks because obviously it's messy but uh the angry obnoxious you're like scared for yourself you know and others so well all right you got her number by the way see kev uh may one day be dating i'm straight i've been with drunks i'm not on that okay kev's kev's gonna stick with the tall girl

00:23:03 - 00:23:18 | Speaker 1:

the competition recently asked us if we would please cancel the mojo in the morning show on Channel 955. We, of course, said no, but at least they said please. Channel 955.

00:23:19 - 00:23:30 | Speaker 2:

All right, Mojo in the morning show. KP had a funny incident happen to her when she was selling something on Facebook Marketplace.

00:23:30 - 00:23:34 | Speaker 8:

I don't know if you guys have seen my Instagram story lately, but I'm literally selling everything I own.

00:23:35 - 00:23:38 | Speaker 7:

Even clothes. I kind of want some of her jeans. You want some?

00:23:39 - 00:23:49 | Speaker 8:

I'm actually worried because nobody wants to buy my clothes. And I'm like, why? They're so cute. But the other day, I'm like, I don't get it. Like, come on. But the other day.

00:23:49 - 00:23:50 | Speaker 3:

Smell like cats.

00:23:50 - 00:25:29 | Speaker 8:

No. That's true. Bubba smells very good. Anyway, so the other day, I was selling, like, a really big piece of furniture. And this dude on Facebook Marketplace. And I don't know if you guys have had this experience with Facebook Marketplace. But the people on there are weird. like they're they're wackadoos that's what i'm gonna call them they're wackadoos i don't whoa like i had this dude go to my place and i always like i'm cautious about going on facebook marketplace because um one i'm a single female so if i'm selling something i make sure that i have it outside of my place they don't know where it is sometimes in the risk of being kind of i would say a public figure in posting on your personal social to sell things you have to go to like specific areas to sell and not not give people i try to gauge like is this a listener or is this a mutual friend is this someone that i honestly i have a preference in selling because it's like i don't know who you are and if you're just messaging me to get my address then we're not going to meet up um but the other day i sold this piece of furniture on facebook market Thank you.

00:25:00 - 00:25:45 | Speaker 4:

plays and this dude comes to pick it up and he seemed like a really normal dude and and all that but i think he's having some tummy problems and um he bent down to pick up the uh to squat and pick up this piece of furniture and let out a little tootsie oh no it was so awkward did he acknowledge it or just no he kept talking about his kids like i'm i'm like i could it was like the best years of my life I wish I would have had kids sooner and then this is so awkward like at least he tooted outside of my apartment but like oh my god how do you like how do you move forward like I mean we moved forward we moved in into his car

00:25:45 - 00:26:01 | Speaker 1:

it is so hard when you're having a conversation with somebody and that happens and like you don't want to acknowledge it because you know that they're so embarrassed but after that happens the only thing I can think I'm not even paying attention I know. It's like, he farted, he farted, he farted, he farted, he farted. That's like replaying in my brain, yeah.

00:26:01 - 00:26:04 | Speaker 4:

Can you smell it? You remember that awesome part?

00:26:04 - 00:26:28 | Speaker 2:

you know it's funny that's happening to me now i'm like randomly just like farting farts just randomly come out i did it right in front of you buddy and i'm telling you i just and why is it that when i randomly fart it's like me watching a fireworks display it's like damn are you farting

00:26:28 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 1:

Where are you? Do you think that's a side effect of the...

00:26:32 - 00:26:35 | Speaker 2:

It may be the side effect of the jab.

00:26:36 - 00:26:36 | Speaker 1:

Of the jab.

00:26:39 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 2:

By the way, when you're selling stuff on Facebook Marketplace, and it's like a big item, and I know that you don't want people knowing your place, you have to move things twice then. I do. You have to pick it up, move it, go take it to where you're moving it to. That seems like a lot of work.

00:26:53 - 00:26:55 | Speaker 4:

Well, it's better than having someone break into my apartment.

00:26:55 - 00:26:58 | Speaker 2:

I get it, but at one point, how much money are you making off of this?

00:26:59 - 00:27:12 | Speaker 4:

I actually, I would say I'm an expert Facebook marketplace person. Like, I, even before now with selling all my stuff, I would buy, like, really old furniture and completely flip it and sell it for a pretty large profit.

00:27:12 - 00:27:16 | Speaker 1:

You do a really good job. You do an amazing job. I want you to do some stuff for me.

00:27:16 - 00:27:40 | Speaker 4:

Like, if I wasn't doing radio, I feel like I would have, like, a shop and, like, make stuff and, like, do that type of stuff. Yeah. But, like, yeah, I've noticed that with everything that I buy, I almost always, because I'm moving a ton, I feel like I'm always moving, I almost always sell it for the same, or sometimes even more, because I fix it, or it's just in good shape, and I take the time to, like, have them come get it and take it away. I don't know.

00:27:40 - 00:27:44 | Speaker 2:

That's pretty good if it's basically, it's almost like you're renting it for a little bit.

00:27:45 - 00:27:47 | Speaker 4:

No, I feel like I do rent my furniture, because people always buy it.

00:27:47 - 00:27:56 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever thought of finding an apartment and staying there for a little bit? that is the goal. What's up, Jordan? Hi.

00:27:58 - 00:28:04 | Speaker 3:

So did she have to go through all the fake people to find the real person? Yep.

00:28:05 - 00:28:08 | Speaker 2:

Does that happen a lot? Yeah. There's a lot of Facebook

00:28:08 - 00:28:12 | Speaker 4:

scams, too. So the new thing is,

00:28:12 - 00:28:33 | Speaker 3:

and I get it all the time, I try to sell something. I go, oh, can you use zelly? I'm like, yeah. Well, I have to activate a new account zelly facebook zone is yeah it happened all the time yeah hey quick question

00:28:33 - 00:28:37 | Speaker 2:

when you sell it uh jordan do you worry as much about them coming to your place or do you just

00:28:37 - 00:28:56 | Speaker 3:

have them come to your place well i actually went to pick up from somebody's house and it wasn't for a date because this guy was he was definitely a catfish if he was dating somebody because I'm looking at the picture of the guy and he goes that's not

00:28:56 - 00:28:58 | Speaker 2:

it doesn't look anything like him

00:28:58 - 00:29:00 | Speaker 3:

but I don't really care

00:29:00 - 00:29:02 | Speaker 2:

because that stuff I'm buying

00:29:02 - 00:29:03 | Speaker 3:

so whatever

00:29:03 - 00:29:17 | Speaker 4:

I had a friend who was trying to sell a boat and he had somebody show up with a bathing suit on thinking that they were going to go for like a really long day of testing the water. Really? Yes.

00:29:17 - 00:29:23 | Speaker 2:

This is a true story. How many times do people you think do stuff like that and just then say, I'm not really

00:29:23 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 4:

interested in the boat? I feel like all the time. You get a boat day. That is a great idea. Seriously, for the 4th of July can I just like test out your wakeboard like wake boat or whatever? Why do you have 20 people here

00:29:35 - 00:29:37 | Speaker 2:

and it looks like a cooler and a picnic table?

00:29:38 - 00:29:46 | Speaker 3:

Man. I'm just complaining about the heat Shut up This is Mojo in the Morning

00:29:46 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning I think we need Zach in for this next topic here Megan saw something about Zach that she wanted to notify him about before everybody else noticed it. But it's one of those things where once you notice it, then everybody's like, well, why are you looking? But what's going on, Megan?

00:30:19 - 00:30:29 | Speaker 4:

So Zach has a really terrible habit. And I'm saying have it at this point because it happens a little often, Zach, where his zipper is down.

00:30:30 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 1:

It happened this morning, too.

00:30:33 - 00:30:34 | Speaker 4:

You just forget?

00:30:34 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 1:

Well, I want to explain myself.

00:30:36 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:30:37 - 00:30:52 | Speaker 1:

I'm living in Detroit now. It's a little chilly. I got chicken legs. I'm wearing long johns now, so I don't feel the breeze. Oh, you wear long johns. Yeah, you don't? That's very cute. It's so funny.

00:30:52 - 00:31:00 | Speaker 4:

I was cold the other day in the studio. I was like, oh, it's so cold in here. And he lifts up his pants, legs, and he goes, I got the long johns. He starts sweating. Hell yeah.

00:31:00 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 1:

Oh, hell yeah, dude.

00:31:01 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 4:

Hell yeah, dude. But let me tell you, I love Zach so much it's not even funny. But I was in here, and all of us were in here, and I was like, Zach, you want a zipper? And he was like, yeah, dude. I was like, no, zipper. And he was like, uh-huh. For sure. I was like, zipper, zipper. And he was like, I don't know what year. And I had to text him and be like, your zipper is down. Please go fix it. That was so loud. I felt like I was in the pants. not not sexual just loud it was loud anyway as soon as i said i was like is that was that inappropriate for me to say or helpful why are you why are you looking at his uh wiener watcher yeah love looking at wieners it's my favorite pastime mojo does it in the bathroom I just do it to every man I pass. No. I have a defense. He was wearing Mojo's meat monitor. It was like the hall monitor. I'm here to monitor the meat. Zach yesterday was wearing black pants, and he had a gold zipper. So it was, like, very noticeable.

00:32:14 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 3:

You knew it. No. No, it just stood out. What does his penis look like?

00:32:17 - 00:32:23 | Speaker 4:

It stood out. That's my underwear. By the way, this group, I feel like this group, we'd tell, like, anything.

00:32:24 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 2:

We have no qualms. Can I tell you what I just witnessed just a second ago?

00:32:28 - 00:32:28 | Speaker 4:

Hmm.

00:32:29 - 00:32:38 | Speaker 2:

I just witnessed. And by the way, you'll have to call us up. Is there something to, like, when somebody tells you your zipper's down? Like, should a guy tell a guy to zip her down?

00:32:38 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 3:

I'm never doing that.

00:32:39 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. But can I tell you what I just witnessed in the bathroom? So I walk into the bathroom, and listeners maybe know this. We have only two places you can go to the bathroom unless you're peeing in the sink. And the maintenance dude from the building was literally dropped trow in the stall. He said he had bad pizza the night before. Bowling alley pizza, he called it. So, Kev is there at the urinal, and I'm waiting for a spot. I go to the urinal to go pee, and I zip my zipper down. I go in, and I'm saying, pee. The building maintenance dude goes over to the thing, and all of a sudden, I hear Kev go,

00:33:14 - 00:33:57 | Speaker 3:

Yo, you got to wash your hands longer. i swear to god good for you i'm bringing this up as a topic tomorrow this is like a longer story but he was in there doing a hour ago and went up i know because he had it's his shoes so when i walked and he commented like i was singing a song in there and he was like he said something so when i go back in this i'm like damn you still in here he didn't even wash his hands he wet his hands There are, like, four women here who do not wash their hands. That's not all right, bro. It's disgusting. Would you call him out? Then he was like, I just got blood on it. I'm like, you're doing all blood? I swear to God, what just happened?

00:33:58 - 00:34:02 | Speaker 4:

He meant that he was wiping them. I feel like he needs to go to the doctor. We need to stop talking about it.

00:34:03 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 2:

No, it wasn't about his, he didn't get the blood from going to the bathroom. He had blood from hurting his hand, fixing something. So he wanted to wash his hands before he washed his hands. so i don't know but it was the greatest thing ever though is and you guys know how kevin is kevin is like the friendliest guy in the world grace is like yo man you gotta wash your hands i'm getting you a megaphone you're gonna be the bathroom monitor what's up rebecca how you doing

00:34:32 - 00:34:37 | Speaker 4:

hey i was just gonna ask zach if he's trying to let it hang out like west did i think

00:34:37 - 00:35:00 | Speaker 2:

you know what you know what it could be and i don't know if this is this the thing zag i don't know what kind of jeans you wear but i i have jeans there's there are seven jeans and i can't wear them anymore because my zipper constantly goes down and i think that i i come to the conclusion i think it was i was at a point

00:35:00 - 00:35:30 | Speaker 3:

where I was wearing too tight of jeans for how large of a man I was. And my zipper automatically, so remember my zipper would always go down? Yes, you always had your zipper down. Are you saying your dick is unzipping itself? No, no, no, no, no. What I'm saying is that when you lose weight, when you lose weight, your pants can fit you right and they go down. So I'm not saying that Zach is heavy, But I'm saying that your pants might not be the appropriate one.

00:35:30 - 00:35:35 | Speaker 2:

I am still living in my emo phase, like 2005, so I'm wearing the skinny, tight jeans.

00:35:35 - 00:36:04 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, you're doing it. Because mine goes, it's not that I forget to do it when I go to the bathroom. If I'm sitting down here at the control board and then I get up, and the worst is I would sit there and now I can't do it anymore because Shannon before was blocked by all the equipment and stuff. Now I've got to be really careful because it would be like showing everything. Yeah, and I don't wear long johns. i don't wear anything nothing comes between me and my kelvin

00:36:04 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 1:

do you freeball your jeans or do you wear boxers no no i wear boxers a lot of guys freeball their jeans that's so weird to me i think so too but i can't

00:36:14 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 4:

i know it hurts well and by the way like i get it for like sweatpants i get it for others i mean yeah even that's a little risky because like come on guys there's not much there but jeans is so

00:36:25 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 3:

uncomfortable yes i can't do it i i don't understand the people that do it and then they think that they can wear their jeans again the next day their dirty butt was literally just in them the day before like how do you expect that you can actually keep wearing wearing those jeans

00:36:40 - 00:36:53 | Speaker 2:

multiple days the reason i don't wear jeans or i wear underwear with my jeans is because i don't want to zip up something that shouldn't be zipped like in that movie like there's something about I do not want that at all. That scares me.

00:36:53 - 00:37:16 | Speaker 3:

How is this apartment? For those who don't know Zach, Zach is the reason why you guys get all our podcasts, all the audio that does on the show. This guy is the best. Executive audio director. Zach Martin, a.k.a. Martian Man. Yeah, Zach Martian. But how is it living? You live in Hamtramck, right? I actually live in downtown Detroit. It's downtown Detroit? Yeah. Why did I think that you moved to Hamtramck? No, he said Highland Park.

00:37:16 - 00:37:44 | Speaker 2:

It's like one block away from Highland Park. okay so a little sketchy and you like it oh i love it it's great i love being on my own um i'm still getting used to it is getting what is the part that's getting used to um i don't like my bed my bed was so cozy back at my sister's house wait you didn't couldn't bring your own bed with you well i didn't want to i wanted to get you wanted to bring i wanted a small like a smaller bed so i could fit more stuff in my room oh okay what size what size better you

00:37:44 - 00:37:54 | Speaker 4:

on a full-size bed no i'm on the queen okay i have a down size yeah it's a huge okay i don't mean to be like whatever it's a huge difference why don't you just get a big bed for the room

00:37:54 - 00:38:09 | Speaker 2:

i mean it fits but i'd rather have like my guitars and stuff in my room when's the last time you're picking up the guitars and just start yesterday really yeah play it while you're laying on the bed in your face i could but i don't want my johnson to touch it you know you're playing the

00:38:09 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 3:

guitar naked yeah in front of everyone yeah okay what what kind of mattress was it that you had in the other one we're going to do a go fund me and get you a mattress that was a king they make

00:38:18 - 00:38:23 | Speaker 2:

good uh they make but is it the mattress isn't comfortable i bought a mattress topper and the

00:38:23 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 4:

mattress topper kind of sucks well we talked about this yeah yeah it's science it your room's too

00:38:28 - 00:39:08 | Speaker 2:

cold yeah and then it doesn't expand and then it feels like i'm sleeping on a rock it's hard because it's cold so your room wait your room that you're in is not heated up enough to um i have two windows and i think one of them might be a little cracked right now so i gotta get you some weather stripping. Are you in a crack house? Do we know? Oh my god! Let's talk about it. Are you a squatter? I pay rent. I live next to a burnt down house and then an abandoned house to my right. We call it a McMansion. There are three stories, but it's kind of crappy. Really? We've got to fix it up a little bit, but it's cool.

00:39:09 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 4:

I'm excited for you. You guys are going to have a really fun time there. Yeah, thank you.

00:39:12 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 2:

It's you and who else? Me, my cousin, and then a mutual friend. This is great. Have you brought any girls back to the McMansion? Not yet. I'm still embarrassing. I've got to fix it up a little more. What are you embarrassed about? The fact that your bed is? No, the first floor bathroom is disgusting. Okay. It's just gross. It's like Farmington Hills bathroom that never got washed.

00:39:37 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

00:39:38 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay.

00:39:39 - 00:39:49 | Speaker 3:

it's like that maintenance man being in there maybe we need to have a guys night at Zach's place I'm for it

00:39:49 - 00:39:53 | Speaker 4:

that sounded so like I'm trying to be a team player

00:39:53 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

just use the bathroom before I get in yeah

00:40:00 - 00:40:46 | Speaker 1:

Search Mojo in the morning wherever you get podcasts. Shannon, this is a great topic. i was always the person that was not smart enough to ever be asked to cheat off of yeah i was also never the person that was not the smartest guy in the class forever to have a person that said they would pay me to do their work for them but i was the person that paid what's going on this is

00:40:46 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 3:

so funny to me so my stepdaughter sam is um in she's a sophomore she's in 10th grade and she is super smart super organized just so intelligent has it all together studies all the time she's one of those kids that comes home from school grabs a snack goes right up to her room to start studying and she was telling wes and i by the way real quick i'm sorry i wasn't drop ready for that oh it's okay yeah and i love it because she's me that's exactly how like we this is why we vibe she is me but um she was telling wes and i the other night that they have this big product i think it's spanish class i might be wrong in the class but it doesn't matter they have a huge presentation that's going to be due at the end of the semester and so they have to partner up in groups of two for this project and she said that a kid in her class offered her 50 bucks to be her partner and just do the project for her and she's like what should i do Wes is like take the money you're gonna do it yourself anyway that's just that's how I was which is not great but I knew that I I would do it the correct way and we would get a good grade so I just wanted to do everything and not do any delegating

00:42:04 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 1:

did you ever get paid for this or no

00:42:06 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 3:

I never got paid I mean I wish I did I never got paid

00:42:09 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 1:

our Jacob is the only smart one in our family hence he's gonna be a doctor but i uh the other ones in radio and the other ones uh thankfully not in uh prison um but uh i have to tell you that jacob would get this all the time he would get paid kids would first off kids always wanted to be in jacob's group for projects because they knew jacob got the project done like the first weekend that it was out there and he would do a lot of the project but he would get offered all the time for help yeah in doing stuff i don't know

00:42:40 - 00:42:44 | Speaker 3:

what she decided to do she's such a good girl and she was like i don't know i feel like that's not

00:42:44 - 00:43:37 | Speaker 1:

that's not right um west is like take the money text us and tell us if you ever paid to get your work done or ever got paid and the ones that got paid i want to know how much money you got paid like how much money are you getting on this and then tiktok too we'll go on tiktok right now because we're our phone lines are down so pick smart people like no that guy doesn't look very smart go to the next i'm just like i don't think that guy that guy might be paying for stuff that picture no no offense but who's this now on here samantha looks like the type of person that would uh be smart samantha you there yeah i'm here hey samantha samantha uh did you hear shannon tell the story about her my stepdaughter so question what what do you are you the smart one that would have people cheat off of you or are you uh one of those that needed somebody else to

00:43:37 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 2:

cheat off of depends on the topic but um in college for a lot of group projects i would be kind of like the person delegating what's going on but i've never had anyone pay me just i kind of got cheap people didn't pay me and i still did all the work i would think nowadays

00:43:57 - 00:44:02 | Speaker 1:

in college it would be so much better with ai but right can they tell if you're ai in it

00:44:02 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

no i mean not i graduated about three years ago from college but that was when chat gpt had just started yeah yeah but now they have things you can go type into chat gpt then take that to a different program just keep going through different programs so it can't be detected now you have to prove you didn't cheat they just accuse you of cheating do they really you didn't yes by the way

00:44:27 - 00:44:37 | Speaker 1:

you have a beautiful home or is that work where is that home yeah it's so nice it's nice to see your face this morning thank you thank you for uh for jumping on with us we appreciate you

00:44:37 - 00:44:46 | Speaker 2:

yeah of course i also long time first time we love you thanks for following us follow

00:44:46 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 1:

channel 955 on tiktok for the war of the roses okay uh let me go to uh one more tiktok and then And we'll grab some phones. Who we got here? Oh, Joe definitely is paying for his work. What's up, Joe? Joe, are you there? Hi, Joe.

00:45:00 - 00:45:05 | Speaker 2:

Joe, how much money did you have to fork out to get good grades?

00:45:06 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 1:

I just kind of went to a Catholic school, and I just had to sit close to the good students.

00:45:14 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 2:

I was waiting for, by the way, him to say a racial slur or something like that. Why did you say that? Because you always knew who the, you always, for some reason in my class, when I went to school, I went to a very diverse Catholic high school, and we had lots of kids of all races, religions, even non-Catholics going there. And you always knew where the smart kids were. And for some reason, all the kids that were Indian were very, very smart. And I used to cheat off of all the Indian kids in the class. Okay. And I'm saying it in a positive way. Yeah, you know, I feel you. Right? But you know what I mean?

00:45:51 - 00:45:51 | Speaker 3:

No, I feel you.

00:45:51 - 00:46:27 | Speaker 2:

Like, I'm like, you know, I'm like, hey, you know, can I teacher sit over by that guy over there? Because I'm going to cheat off of him. Did that happen at all? Am I bad for saying that? Will I get canceled for saying that? I only had black kids in my school. Mine wasn't so diverse. That all Detroit public schools. Oh, you did go to a very creative school. So, you know. I used to fail a lot. I'm going to be honest with you. Thank God I went to a school that had, like, acting. Because I had to guarantee, like, three or four A's every car merging. Joey, let me ask you a quick question. Do you think that Shannon's stepdaughter should take the money?

00:46:28 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

00:46:31 - 00:46:33 | Speaker 2:

By the way, nobody's saying that it's immoral.

00:46:33 - 00:46:38 | Speaker 8:

I know. Except for her. She's worried about that.

00:46:39 - 00:46:43 | Speaker 1:

Real quick, long-time listener. Or not, short-time listener.

00:46:43 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 8:

Oh, you definitely weren't doing the group project. No, no, no.

00:46:47 - 00:46:54 | Speaker 1:

It's good, Joe. What did he say, though? A couple years ago, Howard Stern got a little too expensive. I found you. I'm glad I found you.

00:46:54 - 00:46:54 | Unknown:

Yay!

00:46:56 - 00:46:59 | Speaker 1:

Coming from Syracuse, New York.

00:46:59 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 2:

I love it, man. Thanks, buddy. Thank you so much.

00:47:02 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 1:

I listen to you every morning. Go orange. As you drive to school, so thank you.

00:47:06 - 00:47:22 | Speaker 2:

Our boss's daughter's on the Syracuse volleyball team. Nick Naught's daughter is on the volleyball team up at Syracuse. And they got a great team, so thank you so much, buddy. I appreciate you. All right, let me go to some phone lines here. Liv, are you there?

00:47:23 - 00:47:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, I'm here.

00:47:24 - 00:47:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Liv, what do you think? Paying for grades.

00:47:29 - 00:47:32 | Speaker 5:

I mean, as a parent, I shouldn't condone it, but I get it.

00:47:33 - 00:47:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess you're supposed to discourage it as a parent. Wes is like, go for it.

00:47:38 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 3:

Because you're going to get screwed no matter what. So you might as well get the money. I never understood group projects. I never understood. This isn't the real world in a job where there's consequences for your actions. it's either i'm getting a worse grade or i'm doing it all myself yeah give me money and you

00:47:53 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 2:

and you were suspended wait a second hold on what grade were you suspended fourth grade

00:48:00 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 6:

no recess i accepted a dollar from a student when we were playing capture the flag they really

00:48:08 - 00:48:14 | Speaker 2:

wanted the flag i guess that's funny what's going on lauren how much did lauren was one that paid

00:48:14 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 4:

for grades lauren what did you pay i paid a hundred dollars for a six-page essay i can't remember what class it was and it was an easy class like communications or intro to anthropology something stupid like that hey hey that's our job yeah no it was like an intro class guys like freshman year did not did not i could have done it myself i just didn't feel like it but But I posted on my Snapchat, would pay somebody to do the essay, and the first person that split up was one of the friends that I had going to U of M at the time. Super smart girl. I was like, oh, I got this in the bag.

00:48:55 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, find the kids that's going to U of M. Don't find the kid that's going to OCC. You're being... That's crazy. Adriana, what's going on? KP, didn't you go to OCC? No, she went to Oakland U.

00:49:05 - 00:49:08 | Speaker 5:

First time, long time. Hey there. Adriana's on the phone.

00:49:09 - 00:49:09 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

00:49:10 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 5:

Um, uh, nothing much. Um, but, uh, back in high school, uh, I was grouped up with, uh, a doc and he was, he was known to not do any work. Um, so he said, I'll give you 50 bucks to do a poster board project. And I said, bump it up to 120 minutes of deal. And he paid me for it and it took me a day to do. So yeah, it was great money back then.

00:49:34 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 2:

you know what's funny you should you should actually get an a in business class for doing

00:49:39 - 00:49:51 | Speaker 7:

the bump up on that so that's what people are saying is basically she's just trying to be an entrepreneur positive and also also it's she should just think of herself as a tutor she's

00:49:51 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

just getting paid to be a tutor listen she's not morally doing anything wrong she's getting paid to write a paper which is not wrong it's wrong on the person

00:49:59 - 00:50:01 | Unknown:

You

00:50:00 - 00:50:12 | Speaker 2:

who paid for it to submit it as their own, she's doing nothing wrong. And by the way, I just got a text from Matt Ishbia. He said he would like to hire that person. So UWM would like to put you behind one of their desks.

00:50:12 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 5:

Hey, even if you're single, you're still getting screwed in many ways of your life. Screwed financially. Screwed by friends who tell you one thing, then do another. Screwed by your employer. See, you can still get screwed without having sex. This moment of clarity brought to you by Mojo in the Morning. Back to Mojo in the morning.

00:50:38 - 00:51:02 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Kev's going to talk about something here in a second. I want everybody to oppose him, okay? He's not in the studio, so he can't hear me. I want everybody to call up and go, you're in the wrong, you're in the wrong, you're in the wrong, okay? So when he comes in and tells his story, just tell him flat out what you did, Kev, was completely wrong, out of line, you shouldn't have done it.

00:51:02 - 00:51:04 | Speaker 1:

I literally love doing this. Where is he?

00:51:04 - 00:51:06 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. Lydia, where's Cab at?

00:51:07 - 00:51:08 | Speaker 4:

He said he was coming down to you.

00:51:09 - 00:51:16 | Speaker 2:

I don't see him. He's next up on the topic here right now. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Good to have you guys here with us.

00:51:17 - 00:51:24 | Speaker 3:

There he is. Where were you? I was talking to one of our sales associates. Oh, yeah. Okay. She's going through a situation. I ain't going to bring no air dogs.

00:51:24 - 00:51:31 | Speaker 2:

I understand you got a situation, too. I understand that you may never go back to Starbucks ever again. Is that true?

00:51:31 - 00:52:22 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you got to tell me, am I the problem? Am I wrong in this situation? So I went to Target yesterday, and it's one of those Targets that have the Starbucks inside. Yeah. And they close at like 8, I think, or something like that. And I showed up maybe 7.50, maybe 7.55, maybe 7.57. I don't know. So I walk up to the line because there's no gate or anything. I don't think there ever is a gate. but the person is behind the counter there's a woman to the side that's like waiting on her order to be made and to receive it and i walk up and maybe maybe i'm the issue because i said are you guys still open but it was more so of like to me y'all look open because you back there she over here waiting there's no little turnaround little door now he's like no we actually close but it's not the it's not eight o'clock and in my mind when you say you close as a business you

00:52:22 - 00:52:38 | Speaker 2:

close at eight you serving up until it's eight yeah so so you're saying that hey even though they probably got ahead of time and started cleaning up their stuff and trying to go home for the day you're saying i'm the customer the customer is always right yeah not in this situation

00:52:38 - 00:52:48 | Speaker 1:

why because i think it's like they want to if if the last drink cannot be made by eight o'clock Like, they're done. So you were kind of a jerk.

00:52:49 - 00:53:11 | Speaker 3:

I agree with you, too. I fully disagree. That's what I'm saying. I worked at Subway. Maybe I'm not safe food certified, but I worked at Subway. And in my mind, that preparing to close is a real thing. Yeah, let me mop up the back. Let me chop up. Let me label things. Let me do all the things so I can leave as close to 8 as possible. But I don't lock the door until 8. So if I don't lock the door, you can order.

00:53:12 - 00:53:28 | Speaker 1:

And we would close at 9 because I worked in the mall. and people would come in at 858 and want to wander around the dang store and then they would buy something and then they would want it gift wrapped because it was free gift wrap and i was a gift wrapper of the store and i wouldn't get out of there then until like 20 after night see that's

00:53:28 - 00:53:45 | Speaker 3:

wrong that at eight what's different well here's the thing you can if i show up at 758 or 757 and i'm order a quick drink i'm not walking around i'm not meandering around the store i'm not lollygagging because I know you in. I'm coming in and I'm ordering before the time you close. It's up to you how fast you're going to make it.

00:53:45 - 00:54:09 | Speaker 2:

Why don't we do this? Shannon and I don't agree with you. Why don't we leave it up to the listeners? Let's see what the listeners think about this. Let's see if Kev, if you think that Kev should be the customer always right, or was Kev wrong? What do you think, Kenny? Hi. What's going on, guys? How you doing? Your thoughts on this? What's your opinion?

00:54:09 - 00:54:32 | Speaker 4:

in so i i just want to say kev's out of pocket on this one especially when you're coming in five minutes before they close like dude when i worked at bk in high school we would have people coming into the drive-thru at like five minutes before we closed we had already dumped all the food and we were already cleaning and we would just ignore it um can i play something out to you

00:54:32 - 00:54:38 | Speaker 3:

go no go ahead i want you to fully finish go ahead go ahead i'm just saying you can't i mean

00:54:38 - 00:54:45 | Speaker 4:

I understand, like, they're open, but, like, they're trying to get that last customer out. Whopper, whopper, whopper, whopper. You have to be courteous.

00:54:45 - 00:55:04 | Speaker 3:

Okay, here's the thing. Kenny, you said two amazing things in that sentence. You said, one of the things that you said was, we're open. Hello. And the other thing you said is, we're not closed. So if you're open and you're not. not closed then why aren't you serving because you want to leave early no you close at eight

00:55:04 - 00:55:11 | Speaker 4:

o'clock cab he's he's he gave you his opinion you don't get your way i'm giving mine it's the king's

00:55:11 - 00:55:18 | Speaker 3:

way exactly kenny's the king you can't always get what you want it's like uh when i worked at a

00:55:18 - 00:55:29 | Speaker 2:

restaurant and we closed at so it was 10 o'clock if you walk in in the nine o'clock hour that's really rude you better be out okay you better be out for a full food service and it takes longer

00:55:29 - 00:55:40 | Speaker 3:

than that to make your drink this is not about being rude this is about the okay so so if we want to go off air at 10 20 we can just do it even though the show don't end till 10 30 right

00:55:40 - 00:55:55 | Speaker 4:

but if we go because we prepping to leave wait you know what though if if the listeners call with a last minute request song request right now i got no time to play that song we got to go we know what i mean so i'm sorry hold on layla layla what's your thoughts terrible analogy

00:55:55 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 5:

okay so i work at a full service um restaurant some days we close at nine some days we close at 10 but if somebody's coming in even like 20 minutes before we close no absolutely not oh my god yeah i'm sorry no because it's going to take longer than that all day you had all day i'm telling you it's not that important if you're that hungry whatever yeah we got our closing stuff

00:56:19 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 3:

i'm not telling you where i work you have a life too where is mr and mrs starbucks do they know that all these places are just closing early?

00:56:27 - 00:56:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:56:27 - 00:56:30 | Speaker 3:

Well, that's the difference between like a corporate and, you know,

00:56:31 - 00:56:31 | Speaker 5:

like a mom and pop story.

00:56:31 - 00:56:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm talking corporate. Yeah.

00:56:33 - 00:56:39 | Speaker 5:

The times are the times. I'm sorry. We have a word for that. It's called the last toll. Yeah.

00:56:39 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so let me ask you this. Don't be a last toll. There you go. The last toll. I like that. Can I ask you a question?

00:56:43 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:56:44 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 3:

Are you mad if places open 10 minutes after they say they're supposed to? No. Oh, so what if you're...

00:56:52 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 1:

Because life happens, man. that's different though that is different because the time that it is good like when it's in regards to clothing closing it's the time that it is going to take them to prepare your order and then clean up it's going to put them over their time

00:57:11 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 2:

the opening should not be the employees show up at open opening is the employees are set up it's prepped and it's ready to go like everything's ready for them to start preparing whatever you're ordering

00:57:22 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 5:

so they don't so like our openers come in 30 minutes before right and you know yeah oh i'm

00:57:27 - 00:57:37 | Speaker 3:

sorry i just hit the wrong button so so you can so when it's 6 a.m and they're open and they're ready to go and you're there at 6 a.m they can take your order but if they say they close at 8

00:57:37 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 4:

p.m then that means you cannot agree with you none of these people are agreeing with you i don't

00:57:42 - 00:57:47 | Speaker 3:

give a damn if they agree with me i'm telling you how i feel jen what are your thoughts jen

00:57:47 - 00:57:50 | Speaker 5:

Kevin is completely right on this.

00:57:50 - 00:57:51 | Speaker 4:

What's that?

00:57:52 - 00:57:56 | Speaker 5:

Kevin is completely right on this. No, he's not.

00:57:56 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 4:

You must be saying the wrong thing. Wait, wait. Jen, really quick. Do you not listen to us and play along with what we said? Did you tune in in the middle of this?

00:58:08 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 5:

I've been listening to you guys since Sunnets Black this morning.

00:58:11 - 00:58:18 | Speaker 4:

Did you not hear what I said right before we went into this topic? Kev's not in the studio. I don't want anybody to follow up. and agree with them.

00:58:19 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 1:

How dare you? Oh, my God. How dare you? Dude, I'd be ordering that Starbucks in 30 seconds.

00:58:28 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 4:

Okay, there we go. Okay, here we go. Now I'll feel better. I can't believe... Here's the thing. I'll order, but I'll feel bad about you. Yeah, same. Some people can't play along with games, Jen.

00:58:40 - 00:58:43 | Speaker 5:

I'm bad at following directions. I do.

00:58:43 - 00:58:51 | Speaker 4:

You are bad at following... And so is Kev. So is Kev, too, showing up at 9. 57, whatever time it was. What's up, Rob? Hi.

00:58:52 - 00:59:03 | Speaker 6:

Hey, Mojo. Kev, I think you're way out of line. I love it. I'm not with it. There you go. I mean, you are way out of line. You knew what time they closed, right?

00:59:04 - 00:59:09 | Speaker 3:

No, here's the thing. I didn't go in there for Starbucks. I went to Target. And you know what? I was there open. I was like, huh.

00:59:09 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 4:

What's funny is he was going to probably order a drink that had like five or six extra ingredients in it. Give me a Vinci soy chai latte, six pumps, no water.

00:59:18 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 6:

I think that is not what you gave me. Don't put the shoe on the other foot, Kev.

00:59:22 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Gosh, this is your home of War of the Roses, second date update, throwback, throwdown, five lies to tell your mom, the dirty on the 30, of course. I'm Mojo, along with Shannon, Megan, Mike Kev, KP, Lydia, and Zach. And good to have you guys here with us. I want to shout out a listener, and i want to say hi uh to carolyn a very nice listener and i'll explain my story and then you guys will know my embarrassment to this whole thing so i met carolyn and she walked up and told me about how she's been listening to the show for a while and she did the whole

01:00:00 - 01:00:28 | Speaker 1:

Not first time, not, you know, but I am a long time and stuff and wanted her ba-ba-ba-ba's, the air horns, to go off. And we're having a conversation and we're talking. And the entire time I am talking to her, she, you know, and this is for the sake of the story. She had rather large breasts, okay? How big are we talking? They were perfect for Carolyn. Okay, that's all I'm going to say.

01:00:28 - 01:00:29 | Speaker 2:

Were they Megan size?

01:00:30 - 01:00:34 | Speaker 1:

They were, Megan, they were competition. That's what it was this way, okay?

01:00:34 - 01:00:35 | Speaker 2:

That was speed or comfort?

01:00:36 - 01:02:10 | Speaker 1:

Whatever her husband is into. Listen, I'm trying to be less perverted, okay, as I, you know, mature. I'm finally maturing. So the whole time that I'm talking to her, I'm looking at, and this is not her chest, but it's on her chest. She has, like, strands of her hair. like i'm not talking about one or two i'm talking about it might have been six or seven of them strands of her hair all on her sweater all on the sweater just sitting there right on her chest perfectly positioned on her chest like she had hair on her chest okay and we're having a conversation and we're talking and we had this fun little kind of exchange and then she leaves and she goes and talks to another person that is there who at that particular moment is a woman who says to her oh my god you got all this hair right here she goes oh my god you didn't say anything to me turns around to you and turns around to me and looks at me and go and says to me and i said to her i go i didn't notice a thing i have no idea what you're talking about but it was one of those ones where i'm sitting there looking at you know this the whole time going if i like all i want to do is reach out and grab it and just take them off you know not their boobs they look like 36 d's to me right um i i all i want do you ever have that where somebody has something on them and all you want to do is just take it off you know what i mean like something on their face or like a booger yes yeah like a booger like you know they got it or as you call them boogies yeah uh they have that um but the whole time i'm sitting there going oh my god i can't stop staring look up look up look

01:02:10 - 01:02:44 | Speaker 2:

up do people do that with you megan all the time as somebody who carries around two toddlers on her chest i know it's the only thing that you're looking at it's fine it's my best feature i get it i would look to if i was you but i know that like sometimes i call them my crumb catchers because every once in a while you just wake up and there's like a piece of chicken nugget in your bra and you're like should i i literally call it my boob shelf i genuinely i genuinely can set my dog on my boobs and walk around with my hands free.

01:02:46 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 1:

You're telling me you don't eat that food, you don't take a bite of the popcorn?

01:02:50 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 2:

Depends on what it was or how hungry I am, if I'm being honest. But I do like to call them my dream catchers because it does catch everything and these are the things of your dreams. But I need to stop. Yes, this happens literally all the time and I don't know why it's always hair. I swear to God, I get so much hair in my cleavage, it's not even funny and it's actually kind of gross. So I'm sure she was super embarrassed i was just trying to play off i feel so bad you couldn't have you could not have said anything no or done anything you did the right thing i mean listen i if i knew her well

01:03:22 - 01:03:59 | Speaker 1:

like if it was megan i would say man you got a ton of hair you know yeah whatever there but it was one of those things where i am i i'm thinking to myself i'm like oh my god she's probably you know wondering what's going on i wonder if this when this happens and by the way that's a great conversation. A boob shelf. Are there any other... Where are my large-breasted women at? Those aren't boobs. They're lies. I want to know what have your boobs been able to carry? Wait a second. Was she just trying to carry your water on her chest? She just balanced a one-and-a-half-liter bottle of water on her chesticles. That was unbelievable, Shannon.

01:04:00 - 01:04:04 | Speaker 2:

Shannon? He's called me Shannon. I'm going to go to the bathroom for this break because it does not work for me.

01:04:04 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 1:

and i have to pee anyway did i call you shannon twice yeah oh i did i don't know i'm just uh i'm flustered anytime i talk about them do women by the way notice men with large genitalia as you're talking to them or that you're not looking it's because it's further down women be looking they don't look that far down do they you can tell women be looking

01:04:27 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 2:

that was a great gym like gym shorts and stuff you can tell really yeah women be ball watching

01:04:32 - 01:04:52 | Speaker 1:

they are yeah you do really you'll catch a woman sometimes with her eyes glove guys no i can hold a pen cap maybe not you but women that's talent um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 uh hey what's going on it's mojo on the morning hi

01:04:52 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

hi i wanted to call in about the booth show yes yes what's up

01:04:59 - 01:05:00 | Speaker 1:

Thank you.

01:05:00 - 01:05:08 | Speaker 2:

So, when my kids were little, I used to use my boots to, like, hold the bottle when I was feeding them. Like a third hand.

01:05:09 - 01:05:22 | Speaker 8:

You know what? You didn't even need anything to help you. No, I didn't. Yeah, that's actually... Doesn't that make you feel good, though? Because it's like you are breastfeeding your own child from your breasts. Yeah.

01:05:22 - 01:05:44 | Speaker 1:

You feel good, but then every once in a while, like, I don't even know how this happened, but I took my bra off to get into the shower, and a nickel fell out. how did i not notice that was the great it was warm what's up beth how you doing good how are you guys fantastic uh what's going on uh i have a

01:05:44 - 01:05:53 | Speaker 4:

horrible memory and the only thing i remember about my kindergarten teacher is she would constantly fall asleep on her boob shelf i thought that we all call it a boob shelf

01:05:53 - 01:05:57 | Speaker 8:

what was the other one crumb catcher was a funny one too i like that one too beth

01:05:57 - 01:06:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, it was a perfect shelf for her head. That is the greatest.

01:06:01 - 01:06:04 | Speaker 8:

Didn't you almost want to fall asleep on her boob shelf, too?

01:06:04 - 01:06:06 | Speaker 4:

Yep, I was hopeful for my future.

01:06:08 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 8:

Have a great one. See you back. What's up, Erica? How are you doing?

01:06:13 - 01:06:14 | Speaker 7:

I'm good. How are you?

01:06:14 - 01:06:15 | Speaker 8:

Fantastic. What's going on?

01:06:17 - 01:06:37 | Speaker 7:

So I also am, like Megan, I've had big boobs my entire life. Oh, yeah. And I tell you, I have balanced and put anything I can in between them so I can free my arms. I just had a baby a year ago. And I used to, like, literally put his baby bottle in between them with my bra on. And he was trying to drink it from the middle of my boobs.

01:06:37 - 01:06:38 | Unknown:

Oh.

01:06:39 - 01:06:50 | Speaker 7:

Isn't that just sweet, though? No, it's not. Because then they just get really attached to having big boobs. So I feel like my son is going to want a woman with big breasts his entire life.

01:06:50 - 01:06:53 | Speaker 8:

It's never wrong with that. It's normal.

01:06:53 - 01:07:02 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you think that, and you think that's exciting, but you've never been a girl trying to hook up with a dude who's never seen a bra with that many hooks in the back, and he's getting so confused. Oh, my gosh.

01:07:03 - 01:07:15 | Speaker 7:

I can't tell you how many times a guy in her life would just try to unhook it, and they're like, why is there so many classes? I'm not a 10-year-old. I don't know.

01:07:15 - 01:07:22 | Speaker 1:

I literally had a guy once be like, I can do this with one hand, and I was like, not this one. Not this one. I literally will take that.

01:07:23 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 7:

I'm like, okay, well, how much money do you think that you can give me when you don't get it? Because that's fun.

01:07:28 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, that's awesome.

01:07:30 - 01:07:32 | Speaker 7:

I get it, Megan. I totally get it. So it's awesome.

01:07:32 - 01:07:36 | Speaker 8:

Take care. Bye, Erica. What's up, Diane? Hi.

01:07:37 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 7:

Hello.

01:07:38 - 01:07:38 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

01:07:38 - 01:07:39 | Unknown:

I'm on the radio.

01:07:39 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 8:

Hey. Is this first time, long time?

01:07:42 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Oh, yes.

01:07:45 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 3:

It's wonderful.

01:07:47 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 8:

What's up?

01:07:48 - 01:08:13 | Speaker 3:

oh my god so when we were in our 20s me and our friends we would go to the parks and everything and they would of course say like no liquor bottles so we would always sneak ours in our bra the biggest i could ever get was a half a pint but i had a friend who was able to get a whole pint of hers so we were always carrying for the most part

01:08:13 - 01:08:17 | Speaker 8:

you know what though that's actually kind of nice as a friend it's like a friend with a

01:08:17 - 01:08:33 | Speaker 2:

fanny pack mary what's up hi hi just want to comment wonder if megan has ever done the tic tock challenge where you see how much you can hold underneath of your breath oh oh i so much

01:08:33 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 1:

oh i i have to be able to hold at least two wine bottles one under each right no absolutely oh look at these toddlers i think they weigh at least 10 pounds each i'm not kidding you i like At first, I was trying to tell you.

01:08:47 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, we're going to go in the bathroom during the next commercial break.

01:08:49 - 01:08:50 | Speaker 8:

I'll put this under my boob.

01:08:51 - 01:08:51 | Speaker 1:

I swear to God.

01:08:51 - 01:08:55 | Speaker 8:

Instead of what's in Megan's box, let's do what's in Megan's boob.

01:08:55 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 4:

Megan's cleavage. Yeah.

01:08:57 - 01:08:58 | Speaker 8:

I love that.

01:08:58 - 01:08:59 | Speaker 4:

What's in Megan's cleavage.

01:08:59 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 8:

That's amazing.

01:09:00 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 6:

Cook a chicken.

01:09:01 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 8:

Hold on a second. Hannah, what are you carrying in your boobs?

01:09:05 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so every year we go kayaking up on a kind of fast river, and I learned very quickly that those kayak holders suck. So I started putting my white claw or water, if I was having a good day, in between my cleavage with my bathing suit. And every year with that, the girls are always like, oh, my God, that's genius. And then the men are always, like, cheering as we kayak on that. But, yeah, dance-free kayaking and no-skill drink.

01:09:32 - 01:09:38 | Speaker 8:

That's great. Who needs a Yeti cooler when we've got Anna right here with us, right?

01:09:38 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yeah. No $40 Stanley Cup.

01:09:43 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 8:

Katie, what's up?

01:09:45 - 01:09:48 | Speaker 5:

What's up? Good morning. Happy Friday. Happy Friday.

01:09:48 - 01:09:49 | Speaker 8:

What's going on?

01:09:50 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 5:

Well, I have to preface this by saying this was years ago, but in college, I came home from a night of partying, late, late, late, and got in the shower, and I had a youth This condom sucks. Oh, my God. It's not something I'm proud of, but, oh, there's been many things in the girls over the years. And that was probably my least proud moment.

01:10:16 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 4:

I bet. Megan? Mojo in the morning show. So as a kid, one of the greatest moments I think I ever had was when my brothers, sisters or my dad or mom would drop me off at the Orland Square Mall where I grew up in Chicago, just outside Chicago. And I would go hang out with my friends and we would run around the mall. We would go to the food court. We'd do the whole day like a mall there. And this was back when they had pay phones. and we could never call our parents to pick us up because we didn't have cell phones. So we would call collect and it would be, you have a collect call from, dad, pick me up. And it would mean, that would know how he was supposed to pick up. But I think, I don't remember how old I was. That's what I was going to ask you. How old is Lucy?

01:11:11 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 2:

So Lucy is 10 and a half. The half, very important always. and I just don't know what to do here. I know what my gut is telling me to do but she was asking me last night if I could drop her off at the mall tomorrow with some friends to walk around and she said I could come to the mall too. I could stay at the mall but the girls wanted to walk around by themselves and I said no way because I'm just a crazy person about that kind of stuff. I mean you guys know this was the first summer I let her go to the dang park in my neighborhood by herself and I know I I feel like I'm being overprotective but I also feel like it's the mall there are some interesting tricky people at the mall and I also know that they're not going to stay in a group there's like five or six of them that are gonna that want to go and I know what will happen is like Lucy and one of her other girlfriends will break off and want to go to altered state or Sephora and then like they're not all going to stick together but she said that all of the other girls moms let them do this oh does she hate that and that i am so not cool because i said no and i just said i just don't

01:12:25 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 4:

feel comfortable like you're only in fifth grade um so i don't know you would be wait you would still be at the mall i would still be at the mall and you would be going to do your normal thing but so if anything happened you're able to anything happened it's too late at that point they're

01:12:41 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 2:

already in a car being taken somewhere else i know that i think crazy i say if anything ever

01:12:47 - 01:13:22 | Speaker 1:

happened to her i would never ever forgive myself i don't think you think crazy because that stuff does happen it's not like you've made up a scenario that doesn't happen to families across the world all of the time it just to me then becomes a question and i don't have the answer i'm not going to pretend like i have the answer i'm not a parent one of the benefits of this is that i don't have to worry about stuff like this but how often does it happen is something we have to factor in and then at what age do you let them go because if you never let them go out and be independent 100 but you know like so there has to be a time but when is it 10 to me and my babysitter's

01:13:22 - 01:13:33 | Speaker 2:

daughter was just at this same mall that the girls want to go to tomorrow and was followed for two hours before security finally stepped in and did something about it and this was very recent

01:13:33 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 4:

babysitters 26 wow yeah well then jen jen wants to uh say something about this what do you say

01:13:39 - 01:13:57 | Speaker 5:

jen good morning you guys um i just want to say it's cool that she's letting shannon go to the mall with them and just kind of be there just in case but it also depends on which mall they're going to like if it's somerset mall or great lakes crossing does it really depend though because i've

01:13:57 - 01:14:28 | Speaker 4:

heard that some of the malls in the area that some people consider the nicer malls have had some issues when you could it comes to trafficking i've seen stories before in the news and and i know you're i guess that's a fair point yeah like but does it also depend like she is in fifth grade so i remember as a middle schooler i was doing this yeah is it's a different but are you still though two years even a year or two years older are you still old enough now or is nowadays just

01:14:28 - 01:14:46 | Speaker 3:

not the same like it was look for me with um loose it's a it's a flat out no i don't care who mama said what now if i were to allow my child to go i would be there and i wouldn't be in the food court across on the other side i'll be following their little asses i would keep a

01:14:46 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 2:

safe distance that's what i said yeah i keep a super yeah exactly i think that's the only way

01:14:51 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 3:

to do it i don't remember my first mall experience but i think i was around 13 or 14 when i used to get dropped off at the movies with my friends and we to go to Fairlane because it was the movies right there next to the mall. Oh, I used to work at Fairlane, yeah. And I think that was like, let's go pick up girls, but it's a different world right now, man. What's up, Alex? Hi.

01:15:10 - 01:15:29 | Speaker 6:

Hi, I just wanted to make a comment. My daughter is giving me the same problem. She's in middle school, and I always tell her, I don't care what your friends' parents say. I'm not their mom. I'm your mom. Oh, yeah. And I'm going to do what I think is best for you. And I would never let her do that either, and she's older than

01:15:29 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 1:

so all of well not all of my friends but a couple of my friends are telling me and everybody listening who is in this situation that we need to read the book the anxious generation which actually i just started and i i haven't gotten to this part yet but um and the whole the whole premise of that book is we need to loosen the leash a little bit really um i just at 10 years

01:15:50 - 01:16:06 | Speaker 2:

old the guns are the morn i don't know because at 10 years old i was on my bike all day with no cell phone and know nothing driving around or riding around the city and getting ice cream and meeting up at the centennial quarry to go swimming like i know is that book saying that we've ruined

01:16:06 - 01:16:15 | Speaker 4:

our kids because i've heard a lot of bosses saying that a lot of the kids that were helicoptered so much can't even do things functionally by themselves now as adults because they didn't

01:16:15 - 01:16:40 | Speaker 1:

like i hate the helicopter word i get it but overprotective but but yeah but to me this is smothered lord above i just feel like i'm being a like a sure mom like yeah i still think she's young middle school yeah i probably think about it but fifth grade i don't know i don't grab

01:16:40 - 01:17:15 | Speaker 5:

portia and then you say good morning everybody morning morning good morning um so i have a 13 year old daughter and um i refuse to allow her to go to the mall by herself it's not that i don't trust her i don't trust the creeps out here um and it's the holiday times too it's so much that could go wrong i just don't trust other people now with you being in the mall with her i would keep a close trail if that's the route you decide to go but i wouldn't do it and it's not about not

01:17:15 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 4:

trusting my baby it's the people yeah do you think do you think though that are the people any different than the people were when we were younger or is it that we watched too much dateline

01:17:25 - 01:17:34 | Speaker 2:

nbc or something more though they're snatching people out of walmart these days yeah but they were doing that in the 70s and the 60s they were snatching people in parking lots and malls i think

01:17:34 - 01:17:47 | Speaker 3:

a lot of stuff is that we're more aware of what's taking place when we were younger and we didn't have cell phones we didn't have 24-hour television some people didn't even have television to know what's going on now that you're more aware when you have information you don't ignore it but

01:17:47 - 01:18:12 | Speaker 2:

sometimes we're hyper aware and then we fear something that is not common and we perceive it to be more common than it actually is i don't think this situation falls in that and i know we're talking about kids i know we're talking about safety and i think that makes it very difficult but it's it's very hard to be like yes there are children that are kidnapped but now no children can ever experience any sort of freedom because some children get kidnapped and i i see

01:18:12 - 01:18:16 | Speaker 1:

that point and that's why i'm saying i don't know what to do in a situation because i feel like a

01:18:16 - 01:18:44 | Speaker 2:

crazy person all the time i get it and i get yours i get what you're saying and it's the same like the question i wanted to ask you before we went to that call was what happens and again i'm not pretending like i know what the right choice is here but like what happens when your kids stop getting invited to hang out with your friend group and now you're affecting theirs and i'm not saying well just because they might not get invited to the next thing you should let your kids jump off a bridge like that's not it either but where's the balance look though i wish we could cuss

01:18:44 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 3:

because I don't give a fluff what's going on outside the house. As long as my child's safe, give a damn about these little parties he ain't getting invited to. It'd be all right. How many people you still talk to from middle school? It ain't important.

01:18:56 - 01:19:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, the other thing, too, is that the kids are that mean to not invite you just because your mom's protective.

01:19:00 - 01:19:06 | Speaker 2:

But if you're not allowed to do anything with the friend group, they'll just stop asking now because they hate you. But the answer's going to be no, so why would I invite you?

01:19:06 - 01:19:10 | Speaker 4:

But at least your kid's safe, then. I would rather have my kids not have any friends to live with me forever.

01:19:10 - 01:19:15 | Speaker 3:

But I don't think that's healthy, either, to not have a social life. We ain't just talking about the mall, though. We ain't talking about life.

01:19:16 - 01:19:23 | Speaker 4:

Hey, hold on. Hold on. Is this really your name, or are you setting me up for, like, a D's nuts type joke? No. Is your name Dunya?

01:19:24 - 01:19:24 | Speaker 7:

It's Dunya.

01:19:25 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 4:

Dunya. All right, Dunya. What's going on? How you doing?

01:19:29 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 7:

Good. How are you?

01:19:29 - 01:19:30 | Speaker 4:

Good.

01:19:30 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 7:

Shannon, first off, I'm the opposite of the book. Parents need to parent. Absolutely not. Fifth grade is too young. I work at the mall. I see what goes on on a daily. i'm 44 years old and i get hit on by the creepiest looking men that you've ever seen in your life do not send your daughter to the mall with her friends i promise you she'll live to tell about it parent and don't be afraid to parent if she's too young yeah so you when you say you work at

01:19:55 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

the mall what do you see there that would be something that would not be something good

01:20:00 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 1:

are just kids getting themselves into trouble by stealing just doing dumb stuff throughout the mall yes i'm sure it's innocent the girls just want to go and shop but you know what unfortunately there are people out there that do not have the best intentions for your children or mine and mind you i have teenagers that are in college high school and an eight-year-old so i've seen it all throughout the years okay not be afraid to tell your daughter no she will live to tell about

01:20:24 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 3:

it all right great is way too young because remember i'm already not cool because she doesn't

01:20:29 - 01:20:37 | Speaker 2:

have yeah you know what you need to do you know what add it to the list well that's the other thing too she doesn't have a phone i think she doesn't have a watch yeah but that still worries

01:20:37 - 01:20:59 | Speaker 1:

me you know what i mean like i can i i promise you if she hates you right now you're you're a good mom you're doing your job she will love you later she doesn't hate me you're just it's just this i'm not cool that was you yeah she'll be fine i there's nothing good out there that she needs to be doing in fifth grade at the mall yeah you need to the very least at least be

01:20:59 - 01:21:14 | Speaker 2:

there with her the very least thank you for the call appreciate you it's mojo on the morning show i get megan on this one i i get why she you know feels this way but uh i'm gonna give her an opportunity and this is not a megan minute this is a megan moment here right now so i have a really

01:21:14 - 01:21:50 | Speaker 4:

big pet peeve right now and it all stems from a lot of comments that i've been getting on social media and i knew this was going to be a product of me talking about the struggles that i've been having while losing weight but i i just feel like there's no winning lately it's so frustrating um i i all i wanted to do was have people notice and i think we talked about this last time the most frustrating thing in the world has been people noticing and the way that it has affected me in a way that i didn't really expect well now we're in the second wave and it's comments that i'm getting on social media can i stop you for one second while she sets up the cameras because

01:21:50 - 01:22:00 | Speaker 2:

she's going to tape this thing i already started but now do you already started it yeah come on real quick will you tell the listeners how much weight have you lost about 50 pounds that's

01:22:00 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 4:

incredible that is unbelievable 50 pounds okay with my left hand i'm not gonna lie i'm really

01:22:08 - 01:22:11 | Speaker 2:

We're all proud of you.

01:22:14 - 01:23:38 | Speaker 4:

So the comment that I've been getting now a lot, and I truly enjoy people being like, hey, I've been struggling with this for a long time because I've been there. I get it. A lot of people are asking, you know, what have you been doing? Yeah. And maybe it will work for me. I'm so willing to share with people. I don't think they're going to like the answer, but I am so willing to share with people. But I'm getting a lot of those comments. And if I don't get to them in time, people will just start saying the Ozempic is Ozempicing. Number one, there is nothing wrong with Ozempic or any other weight solutions. Those are tools that benefit people and help people and should not be degraded or used as a weapon against somebody for not losing weight the right way. number two i tried so hard to get on ozempic are you kidding me i went to three different doctors and nobody would give it to me you don't think that i tried i did but uh the the big thing is it really is a degrading way and i feel like when it comes to being overweight there's absolutely no winning ever no matter what you do if you don't lose the weight people hate you if you do lose the weight people say you didn't do it the way they would have done it so they look down upon you And it's just so frustrating to know that no matter what I do, I'm always going to be looked down upon other people.

01:23:38 - 01:23:46 | Speaker 2:

So people are saying to you, you have had people say that you must be taking one of the shots or doing the jabs or whatever the deal is.

01:23:46 - 01:24:09 | Speaker 4:

Which, by the way, I know you're meaning it as an insult. That's 1,000% your intention behind saying comments like that is to degree people for saying, wow i thought i was better than you because i was skinnier than you and now that you're getting skinnier i have to say that i'm better than you another way so you cheated to lose the weight this wouldn't have happened if you didn't use it why people are so pissed like i have a lot of

01:24:09 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 3:

friends who are doing like the the shots not ozempic or whatever they are but like who the cares but it's not new either i don't understand why that's such a sticking point can i tell you

01:24:19 - 01:25:05 | Speaker 2:

where i think it got to where it made a level it was the kardashian level it's the it's the the people who are not necessarily you would think overweight that are doing it because they want to lose weight and want to and they're using it as a way to be skinny okay but also who the hell cares it's not you but the problem is that when those guys started doing the celebrities started doing it first and then they were taking it from people who are diabetic who needed it for medication and then that's when remember they cut it off and that's one of the reasons why doctors weren't being able to give it so long story short i get i totally understand that that's where it got its bad negative contacts, but you said an analogy in our pre-show meeting. when we were talking about this topic that I think you should use this analogy right now. You remember your analogy?

01:25:05 - 01:25:13 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. I mean, you would never look at a cancer patient who is on medications to help them battle cancer and go, you cheated cancer.

01:25:13 - 01:25:14 | Speaker 2:

You chemotherapy?

01:25:14 - 01:25:36 | Speaker 4:

How dare you cheat it? But I also don't think this is new with like Ozempic. I really don't. I think it was the same thing when like gastric sleeves and bariatric surgeries became popular. It was the same thing in the early 2000s when people were using and I, this is horrific, but laxatives were like a really big thing like it's always been if you lose weight it must be well diminished

01:25:36 - 01:26:37 | Speaker 2:

and it's so frustrating and then diets like atkins diets and whatever things like that i think that well i think that one of the the things is don't make a difference who you are even skinny people think that they're heavy right so so when you see people that do lose weight you're like oh my god I've got to know. I want to know your secret. And honestly, I think it's almost like you want to think that the secret is that you took the quote-unquote easy way out by doing the shots. But I take it as somebody that struggles with my weight. And, you know, right now I've kind of gone through this whole thing where I'm trying to watch the times of day I eat and stuff like that. you have lost weight doing it the way that everybody for years in you know centuries have told you that you had to do it is basically you had to watch what you ate but you also had to exercise too that's how you're losing weight right am i safe to assume or have you even told

01:26:37 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 4:

anybody i haven't told anybody i don't think it's anybody's business first of all i really don't

01:26:41 - 01:26:52 | Speaker 2:

think it's anybody's business but it's funny when you tell people how you lost weight and they go oh really because you don't want to know it that way you want to think it's an america miracle drug

01:26:52 - 01:27:03 | Speaker 1:

or something even with mojo when we did the ideal you and we we started losing weight with ideal you people would find then pick it apart to try to find the negative in it right right it's just a

01:27:03 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 4:

way to tear people down no matter what because no matter how i answer that question no matter how i answer it somebody's going to tell me i'm doing it unhealthy i'm wrong this is going to hurt me in the long run i'm going to gain all of it back yet like it does not matter what the fill in the blank is people have to put their input in guess what nobody who's on this journey is asking for your input shut up i'm sorry it's so aggravating it's so aggravating when you talk about the

01:27:31 - 01:28:16 | Speaker 2:

examples uh with the cancer example that people go through this is in a lot of the cases this is your cancer this is your alcoholism this is your whatever your vice is and you wouldn't tell a person that has cancer or a person that has as alcoholic or a drug abuser wouldn't oh how dare you try to give up doing that stuff to do it you know what i mean it is a struggle it is a very very big struggle i think it's funny i think though that you're right that people i think i think people who have um weight issues and maybe i think that's because i am that but they're the butt of jokes and they're it's okay to like make fun of them because you know they can you can make fun of them but marlene what's up it's mojo in the morning hi

01:28:16 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 3:

good morning hey megan i'm a yo-yo big girl too you know my weight one one minute here one minute there but i think it's because people think when you use a tool you're doing it the lazy way i've been told that oh that's the lazy way but it's not because you have to put the work still it's not like a um anything you do is not magic even the weight loss surgery you still have to put the work in or you'll gain the weight back yeah i also think that's yourself yes that is an unfair accusation as well for somebody to say that because the lazy way is doing nothing when i lost 100 pounds everyone's like oh when did you get the surgery i didn't get a surgery they argue with me well yeah you did well no i didn't but even if you did who cares and listen the only surgery that

01:29:03 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 2:

would help me would be wiring my mouth shut that would be the only surgery that would help me but i will tell you that i i went so i never i never really talked much about this for a while but i went to like a weight loss place to like go and talk about the possibility of getting that surgery and i remember going and sitting there in the room with other people that were going to do the same thing because they make you your insurance companies make you do that and i remember sitting there in the room and a guy sitting next to me basically was telling me all of the things that people would tell him about his weight and why he was fat and you know they would everybody always gives you and you know and when megan just brought up that cancer analogy it made me think to myself i'm like going how unreal is it that you can say to a these are complete strangers he was from the insurance company well no but i mean it's like you just wouldn't tell you that to somebody that you wouldn't walk into a hospital waiting room with somebody that's got, you know, no hair.

01:30:00 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 1:

because they lost it because of their treatments that they've been getting and go let me tell you

01:30:04 - 01:30:15 | Speaker 4:

why you got cancer right you know or even to like i love this one like to a man who needs to be on the little blue pill you'd never be like you're cheating you're having sex that's true that's

01:30:15 - 01:30:22 | Speaker 6:

true that's a great analogy um you should be able to do that naturally hey hayley what's going on

01:30:22 - 01:31:05 | Speaker 5:

hi guys um so i had gastric bypass surgery and the amount of criticism just for considering it was just unreal um like the last caller said people would say oh it's the lazy way you can just work out just change your diet just do this just do that and it's like i made an educated decision for myself I wanted to be healthier for my kids I wanted to just be able to live my life I mean I'm young and I still had the surgery young and it's just it's just mind-blowing to me how people can judge you for something that you chose to do for yourself yeah I just honestly I

01:31:05 - 01:31:10 | Speaker 1:

say to them, you know, move away from me or I'll eat you.

01:31:11 - 01:31:12 | Unknown:

I love that.

01:31:13 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean? Listen, I'm so damn proud of Megan, and I'm not proud that you've lost weight. I'm proud that you are doing something that you truly, and I truly believe this is, has made you feel good and feel

01:31:30 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 4:

better. It made you happy. I think that was a therapy. here i think this is a side effect of actually caring about myself again yes which i won't say because i do not equate it to losing weight because i think i cared about myself i started to care about myself again before i lost the weight it's a side effect of that i that's why i was like i don't want to give everybody my advice on what i did because not everybody wants to hear it but once i realized i was worth taking care of i started putting in the effort again

01:31:59 - 01:32:02 | Speaker 1:

Your therapist is going to get a frickin' Nobel Peace Prize.

01:32:02 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 4:

He really deserves it. He really deserves it.

01:32:06 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Morgan. What's up?

01:32:08 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 6:

Hey, so I was just going to say I've kind of had, I guess, like the counter or the opposite experience of Megan with, like, disclosing information because I am an open book. But it almost, like, strikes people, baffles them that I share so much that they'll come up to me and they'll whisper as quiet as they can, Who was your doctor? Because I had DSG surgery. And they'll want information. and they don't expect me to be so open about it and they're taken aback that i'm willing to share

01:32:33 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 1:

how i lost the weight yeah and it does it it's one of those things where there are some people that are more vocal than others and then there are some that are you know that uh that want to be private but i would just say just you know be happy for them be happy for people that's the problem is nobody can ever be happy for anybody you know like nobody like honestly if you see somebody that goes out and buys say a new car or whatever you all go huh they must be rich you know well no maybe they were driving a car for a long period of time and saved money and decided to do it or maybe they're not rich maybe they're at you know check to check and this check this is going to be hard don't sit there and look at them differently i don't know if it's a midwest thing

01:33:13 - 01:33:22 | Speaker 2:

that we do that and then we feel like we have to justify well i got a good deal on it well i well i you know i did this and i didn't know you right you did it you just did it you're right mike you

01:33:22 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 1:

You should be able to just say whatever the hell you want and be happy about making that purchase, even if in my case it's Ozempic. Anybody got Ozempic for me?

01:33:34 - 01:33:35 | Speaker 3:

I'd love some.

01:33:36 - 01:33:37 | Speaker 1:

Caitlin, what's up?

01:33:38 - 01:34:13 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Actually, speaking on your little comment about Ozempic, that's exactly what I was going to talk about. The issue, I understand that people have an issue with people. We have a big issue of diabetes in our country. So I kind of see like a little bit of like why people are so hateful about it. But the fact of the matter is, is that all medications have different uses. We may primarily use it for one thing, but the side effects of something might actually help treat another condition. What was Viagra for?

01:34:14 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 1:

Viagra was originally for?

01:34:16 - 01:34:21 | Speaker 3:

Heart conditions. It was? It was. Exactly. It was originally for heart conditions. Now we use it for pumping up men.

01:34:21 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 1:

yeah hold on pump up the jam um no that is absolutely true and and honestly uh you talk to a doctor that will sit there and talk about the ozempics and stuff like this and they said i'd rather have you use it when before you're a diabetic than use it because you're a diabetic

01:34:40 - 01:35:07 | Speaker 3:

let's at least stop yeah and i just want to make a quick comment real quick megan it is a huge deal that you lost 50 pounds yes especially without something like that like the fact that you lost so much that's like some people look at that and they're like that's a freaking miracle okay so you be proud of it no matter what comments people make to you because you did it. It's wrong to want a cake to celebrate, right?

01:35:08 - 01:35:08 | Unknown:

No.

01:35:11 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 3:

I swear to God

01:35:12 - 01:35:16 | Speaker 2:

I've been... You came in this morning and you were like, all I want is a piece of cake all I want is a piece of cake.

01:35:16 - 01:35:21 | Speaker 1:

By the way, you should definitely have those moments. Oh, I do.

01:35:21 - 01:35:28 | Speaker 3:

I do, but you know what I do know? I walked to Greektown to go to the bakery to get it. I forced myself to go walk to get it. Good for you.

01:35:28 - 01:35:38 | Speaker 1:

Congratulations to you, Megan. We're very, very proud of you. If you would like to see Megan's boudoir photos, she's going to be doing those soon. Will you do that? Oh, my.

01:35:38 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 3:

Only once I have a doctor pick these boobs back up again. The link to subscribe will be in the Mojo in the Morning Instagram account. Do you want to see me unroll my boobs at this point? I don't, like, scoop them in my bra. I just roll them up.

01:35:50 - 01:35:55 | Speaker 1:

Would it be weird if we said yes to it? Oh, cinnamon roll boobs. Yeah. All right. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo.

01:35:55 - 01:35:56 | Unknown:

Mojo. Mojo. Mojo.

01:35:56 - 01:36:08 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. Mojo. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:36:08 - 01:36:09 | Speaker 1:

All right, are you ready?

01:36:10 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

01:36:12 - 01:37:35 | Speaker 1:

You're a doo-doo head. Here we go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go name and the email was addressed thomas and my my last name isn't this your card and it showed a number up at the top which was a credit card which was a credit card number and then the email goes on to say and i actually sent this to all you guys i'm looking at it right now in our group chat if you guys want to see it there it says um let's get straight to the point yeah let's get straight to the point you don't know anything about me however i know everything about you and you must be wondering why you are getting this email right i actually installed a malware on porn websites and guess what you've accessed it uh accessed it yeah okay now will you read it for me

01:37:35 - 01:37:43 | Speaker 2:

that's my fan sorry i know i love you doing it yeah um and um wait this is can i read this

01:37:43 - 01:38:18 | Speaker 1:

sex website and uh have get my drift um been doing some things on there and then it talks about how they did this remote control thing where they have like a key logger which allows them to to access my camera and basically what they're trying to say is that they have caught me doing dirty things to myself, buttering the corn and they've got video of this and they go on to say that they videotaped this

01:38:18 - 01:38:22 | Speaker 2:

and they said it's a double screen videotape

01:38:22 - 01:38:31 | Speaker 1:

and they said that if I don't pay them $800 and they have a QR code at the bottom and some number at the bottom.

01:38:31 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 3:

Not a QR code?

01:38:32 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 1:

No, you have to pay them in Bitcoin. That's what they're saying. Oh, I see. They want me to pay them. If I don't pay them, that they're going to release video to my family, friends, and I think they even say something about churchgoing people or something. I don't know.

01:38:50 - 01:38:54 | Speaker 2:

Wait, did you say what the video is of specifically? The video is of... Now I'm reading.

01:38:54 - 01:38:56 | Speaker 1:

The video, I believe, is of me.

01:38:56 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 2:

No, it says, so it's a double-screen videotape. First half, God, it's so dang small. First half displays the video you were viewing. Other half displays you pleasuring yourself as you're watching the video.

01:39:11 - 01:39:17 | Speaker 3:

To be fair, sometimes I would be more embarrassed if people knew what I was watching than the video of me and myself. That's true.

01:39:17 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 1:

It's not illegal. It's frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane.

01:39:20 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 2:

You have one day. You've never watched something, and then as soon as it's over, you're like, why?

01:39:25 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, right.

01:39:26 - 01:39:27 | Speaker 2:

Why was that the video?

01:39:27 - 01:39:30 | Speaker 1:

That would be my entire Netflix history. Me too.

01:39:30 - 01:39:31 | Speaker 2:

This came to your email?

01:39:32 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 1:

So this came to my email, all right? It came to my email.

01:39:34 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 2:

Is that your credit card number?

01:39:35 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 1:

So this is the funniest part, is it starts off with digits of an Amex card, and I was like, oh my God, I think that might be mine. And then I went and looked at my credit card and realized it's not my number, so that's why I'm, obviously. Okay, okay. But my question is, and I throw this out there, and this is the part that is interesting, Because this is kind of like, hey, your kids got, you know, are right now, you know how the people call grandmas and say, hey.

01:40:00 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 2:

Your grandchildren right now are in a foreign country, and they're in jail, and you need to send them money. You know what I mean? This is now where it's gotten to. And I want to know if there are any people that have ever fallen for scams like this. Have you ever fallen for any of these scams? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or text 95500.

01:40:19 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 6:

Didn't you see the estimate of what they think people pay each year in these scams?

01:40:24 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 2:

No.

01:40:25 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 6:

And it's an estimate because so many people are embarrassed they don't report it afterwards. and they think it's, like, a $50 billion a year industry.

01:40:32 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 1:

Holy shit. I think I worked for a scam agency before. For real. When I was younger, I used to work at this place called Insight in Southfield. And it was a whole floor of, like, high school kids, either kids that were in high school or kids that just got out. And we were all on headsets. We had a script. And I feel like we targeted old people and used to sell them, like, I don't know, told him like the money was going to like cancer research or something like that but now looking back it didn't feel legit at all is that still around i don't know well because you just pretty

01:41:07 - 01:41:43 | Speaker 2:

much called him out and said let's do the googles as if it's legit is legit if it ain't then it ain't i'm just saying my experience i gotta uh i gotta be honest with you i um when i got this email at first i literally was like oh my god this is crazy because i ain't gonna lie i occasionally watched a little bit of porn and i don't and and i think that this has gotten me to a point now where i think i'm giving porn up this is going to be like a new lent for me i'm gonna give it up because if it could this be possible that somebody is able to do this okay answer megan's question

01:41:43 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 7:

though yeah would you be more concerned about people seeing what you were watching or what

01:41:47 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 2:

you were doing while you were watching both i always honestly i like i know some people that actually uh say that they pleasure themselves looking in a mirror that's weird i don't i do not i don't even walk in out of the shower in front of the mirror and look at it what's up hannah

01:42:08 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 5:

hi hey mojo i have gotten that exact same email before so it is definitely a scam yes and answer

01:42:17 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 2:

the megan question which would you be more embarrassed by what you were watching or what

01:42:22 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 5:

you looked like watching it well i was kind of young when i got it and i'm the type of person where it's like i didn't do it at that time but i was like did i you know yeah yeah but you know But, you know, obviously, as I got older, honestly, I'd probably be watching me. Like, that would make me more uncomfortable.

01:42:44 - 01:42:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it'd be embarrassing. What's up, Harper? Hi.

01:42:48 - 01:43:14 | Speaker 4:

Hi. So, I had this male friend of mine who was on Tinder and matched with this girl who then convinced him to add her on Snapchat. And then they started getting a little frisky with the pictures. And he sent her a D-Pick to which she screenshotted it and threatened to send it to his friends and family, his employer, if he did not pay this person Bitcoin.

01:43:15 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 2:

So wait, but it was legit.

01:43:17 - 01:43:44 | Speaker 4:

So that was real life. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it ended up being like this scam happens. It's actually really sad because these are the stories that you hear with younger kids, especially younger males. Yeah. So embarrassed. and end up doing terrible things because they're so embarrassed about it. He didn't end up doing it because this person probably does this to 100 people a day and probably 10 people fall for it, which is a lot of money.

01:43:44 - 01:44:04 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's what I'm thinking with this email that's going out. I mean, you know, I wonder how many people have done it. They probably have made some money. You're right, though, on these younger kids that have that happen to them. You hear stories about them committing suicide, which is so sad that there are these scammers out there that will prey on people like that. Kristen, we're talking about falling for these scams. What's going on?

01:44:06 - 01:44:26 | Speaker 4:

So I work at a bank, and we see this all the time. But the one that sticks with me the most is we have this, like, 70, 75-year-old lady. She literally spent, like, $50,000 on this guy. She thought she was dating him. He was probably, like, in his 20s. She had, like, a picture of him and everything.

01:44:27 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 6:

So, Kristen, I know that you said that you work in a bank, And I know that Mojo and Kev have still not watched the documentary I sent to them on this. But there was a guy who actually had his entire bank closed down because he gambled the bank's money on one of these scams. And so he had an entire bank shut down over falling for a scam. So just because you work there, whatever, like everybody falls for this stuff.

01:44:51 - 01:44:52 | Speaker 2:

That's wild.

01:44:52 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 4:

They do. And it's so sad. You know, when you try to tell them that it's not like that it's not real and it's a scam. but

01:45:00 - 01:45:10 | Speaker 5:

sometimes they don't care yeah man they just send all their money like that's a lot of money fifty thousand dollars oh my god yeah that's your that's your savings thanks for the call

01:45:10 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 6:

stacy what's up hi i actually had a call from macomb county jail and it was my sister's voice and she said she needed money to be bailed out but i ended up calling back to the jail to see what her charges were and she wasn't even an inmate okay so we talked about this in trending

01:45:28 - 01:45:44 | Speaker 2:

news very recently about how AI now is able to spoof people's voices and I mean that would I feel like that would trip me up if I heard my sister's voice on the other end of a call you know what I mean that one's really scary to me

01:45:44 - 01:46:03 | Speaker 6:

that one was it was very scary so I'm glad that I decided to call back but it completely real like she was crying she was really upset and I was just like what are you talking about and I had to you know accept it was a collect call that came through like how it typically does from the jail so it was just very

01:46:03 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 1:

wild man uh camilla's mom fell for a scam one of those overseas scams right yeah and did she give

01:46:12 - 01:46:51 | Speaker 5:

some money to these people a lot how much um well probably the first year over 5 000 and at this point we're almost five years in oh geez and what was the scam so this guy is pretending well we don't know if it's a guy because the person that she sends money to is a female name on tape hell but this person pretends to be her boyfriend and says that he's overseas in the military and needs money for mission support and she sends it yeah man yeah they they prey on

01:46:51 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 1:

single you know women who are either divorced or widows and they try to get them to give up all of their life savings by claiming to be some foreign good-looking dude you know yeah and nine out of ten times you're right it's it's probably somebody that doesn't even look like what you think that it is you know honestly i i hear the stories all the time that a lot of times it's you know it's a bunch of younger 20 somethings that are just good with computers

01:47:21 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 2:

It's Kev.

01:47:22 - 01:47:23 | Speaker 1:

It's right.

01:47:23 - 01:47:41 | Speaker 8:

It's high school Kev. I'm telling you, John Oliver did this thing on pig butchering, and that's what they call it, or pig slaughtering, is the name of the scam. And most of the time, the people that are doing the scamming are in their own traffic rings, and they're victims too. It is wild how deep this goes.

01:47:42 - 01:47:44 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning Misfit. Michelle's on with us. What's up, Michelle?

01:47:45 - 01:47:47 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, beautiful people. Good morning. How are you?

01:47:47 - 01:47:48 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Michelle?

01:47:49 - 01:48:11 | Speaker 7:

Okay, so I haven't been scammed that way, but we won't talk about that. But I want to comment, Megan. First of all, I don't care if they're watching me or what I'm watching, because at that time, there's only one person I've got to believe. That is true. In that moment, the last thing I'm worried about is anybody else but myself.

01:48:11 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 1:

I like that. By the way, I wish I had that attitude. This is the home of Mojo in the Morning. world-famous channel 955. It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning. Not getting a call back after you've gone out and you want to know why. We're going to find out this morning. This morning's second date update here on the show. What is her name, Lydia?

01:48:37 - 01:48:37 | Unknown:

Anaya.

01:48:38 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 1:

Anaya. Anaya. How are you? Hey. How are you? First time, long time on the show with us?

01:48:45 - 01:48:49 | Speaker 4:

Hey, give it up, man. Anaya is on her phone.

01:48:49 - 01:48:51 | Speaker 1:

So, Anaya, how did you guys meet?

01:48:53 - 01:48:59 | Speaker 4:

So, we met at the gym, which is kind of weird. But, yeah, we met at the gym. That's not weird. Yeah.

01:49:00 - 01:49:06 | Speaker 1:

A lot of people meet at the gym. No, that's good. And so, you guys, tell us a little bit about it. What did you guys do?

01:49:07 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 4:

Like, obviously, like, well, he didn't even come up to me. He found my Instagram, and he DM'd me. And so we decided to, you know, like get food after the gym one day.

01:49:17 - 01:49:29 | Speaker 1:

So that's kind of how it started. Here's a question for you guys. Do you think that that feels a little invasive if you meet somebody out in public and they go and they DM you from saying, hey, I saw you at the gym?

01:49:29 - 01:49:33 | Speaker 8:

Yes. It depends. Talk to me first and then DM me.

01:49:34 - 01:49:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It depends. Tell them, Shannon. If you're cute, I will welcome that DM.

01:49:39 - 01:49:42 | Speaker 2:

Not anymore. But. But I was thankful.

01:49:43 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 1:

All right, so you got food after you went to the gym. Is that it?

01:49:47 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, he kind of came over the same day and we, well, that night after we had food and worked out and stuff and we hooked up and, you know, like I was nervous to hook up with him.

01:50:00 - 01:50:15 | Speaker 3:

because I was like, I hope he doesn't ghost me. But I knew he wasn't going to ghost me, but he ended up ghosting me. And so I don't know. Like, he doesn't even talk to me anymore when we're at the gym at the same time. He doesn't look at me. He just has his headphones in. He's always walking, but he never talks to me.

01:50:15 - 01:50:23 | Speaker 2:

He took you out to go get food. You guys went back and hooked up with each other. And now the guy's going into the gym and he's not even looking at you or talking to you?

01:50:23 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 3:

And he didn't even, he found my Instagram. Like, I should have thought that was creepy. but I thought it was like

01:50:29 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 2:

I don't know cool. You can't do that you can't hook up with somebody and then just not talk to them especially if you're in the same place Parth is his name he's on the phone with us right now Parth Hello? Hey say hello to Anaya

01:50:42 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 3:

Uh Hi I guess

01:50:47 - 01:50:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi Parth Hey Parth what's happening

01:50:51 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 3:

Uh In I have a girlfriend now.

01:51:00 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so... Wait, how... When was the... Anaya, when was it that you guys hooked up? How long ago was it?

01:51:11 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 3:

Are you kidding me? Wait, when did this happen? Two weeks. So you got a girlfriend in two weeks.

01:51:19 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 1:

So you had a girlfriend at the time you hooked up with Anaya?

01:51:23 - 01:51:34 | Speaker 2:

You had a girlfriend. No, but... Come on. So you did not have a girlfriend when you guys got together at the gym?

01:51:35 - 01:51:38 | Speaker 3:

No, but, I mean, it's two weeks, obviously.

01:51:39 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 1:

Can we... Can you hit a drop for me?

01:51:41 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:51:42 - 01:51:42 | Unknown:

Boo!

01:51:42 - 01:51:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:51:43 - 01:51:53 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. Wait a second. So you're telling me, Parz, that in two weeks, you met a girl, and it has gotten serious enough that you are boyfriend-girlfriend. You already have titles, and you're exclusive.

01:51:53 - 01:52:00 | Speaker 4:

i was talking to her before but you know okay are you serious

01:52:00 - 01:52:24 | Speaker 2:

why am i involved why would you not say something at least to her like why would you not after the fact when you're at the gym and you see her not ignore her like you were doing why do i have to explain myself because you had sex with this woman and you guys have been out with each other. It's called common decency. At least say hi to her, for Christ's sake.

01:52:25 - 01:52:27 | Speaker 3:

She involved herself.

01:52:27 - 01:52:30 | Speaker 1:

Nope. Nope. It takes two.

01:52:30 - 01:52:32 | Speaker 2:

How did she involve herself? You're the guy DMing her.

01:52:34 - 01:52:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it's not... We hooked up once. It's not that deep.

01:52:38 - 01:52:44 | Speaker 4:

Which is fair, but can you communicate that instead of just ignoring?

01:52:47 - 01:52:49 | Speaker 3:

Not going after her, not

01:52:49 - 01:53:04 | Speaker 1:

talking that is communicating so that's literally the opposite of lack of communication and you don't need to give details you didn't even need to say you're in a relationship now you just i i think owed it to her to say hey i'm not really interested in taking this any further or however you wanted

01:53:04 - 01:53:14 | Speaker 3:

to say it you know that's such a old school way of no that's just a polite respectful way of doing

01:53:14 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 2:

it anaya you see him in the gym he doesn't even look at you and you sit there and say to yourself what's going on you had to almost at least in your head think he probably has a girlfriend i don't buy any of this that he just got her in the last two weeks yeah i never thought that

01:53:34 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 3:

was the case i thought i did something wrong or i don't know but a girlfriend is crazy like i I didn't be it myself.

01:53:41 - 01:53:52 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to know what your thoughts are on this one. I mean, Parth, at least, Ozer. I mean, don't we believe that? Or maybe somebody else, you know, doesn't agree with that.

01:53:52 - 01:54:15 | Speaker 5:

No, I think that, well, I'm not defending the fact that he didn't say anything to her. I think that is kind of strange and weird. But he said that his girlfriend, air quotes, didn't come out of the blue. It was somebody he's already been talking to, somebody he's already been dealing with. And then they just decided to make it official. Right. I wonder if she knows. He was still single when he smashed Anaya.

01:54:15 - 01:54:22 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Parth, does she have any idea? Does she know at all anything about Anaya?

01:54:22 - 01:54:25 | Speaker 3:

No. She doesn't need to.

01:54:25 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 2:

Yes, she does. Why? Because you're getting into a situation where you were not honest to her that you were out talking to other girls. They weren't exclusive, though.

01:54:35 - 01:54:39 | Speaker 4:

No, which is fine. But tell her, I've moved on with somebody else.

01:54:39 - 01:54:41 | Speaker 2:

Brandy, you wanted to comment on this? What are your thoughts?

01:54:43 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 4:

Immediately. As soon as she said that they were at the gym, they left the gym, they got food, they went home and hooked up. I ain't gonna lie. You should have expected 50-50. No. I'm calling you back, baby. No. Oh, that's a lie. I'm sorry, sweetheart. It happened like...

01:55:00 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 8:

But guys shouldn't be that way. Even if they don't want anything more.

01:55:06 - 01:55:10 | Speaker 3:

I'm not interested. I had fun. I'm not looking for guys and shit.

01:55:10 - 01:55:13 | Speaker 6:

So did they talk a lot before he DM'd her?

01:55:13 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 8:

He hung up the phone, by the way.

01:55:15 - 01:55:15 | Unknown:

What?

01:55:15 - 01:55:16 | Speaker 8:

Parth hung up the phone.

01:55:16 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 6:

Did y'all talk a lot before he DM'd you? No. We didn't talk that much. He literally found me. Like, we would talk at the gym, and, like, he was cool a little bit, but, like, he found my Instagram. He didn't ask me.

01:55:30 - 01:55:32 | Speaker 8:

He hung up the phone.

01:55:32 - 01:55:36 | Speaker 6:

He sought you out. She probably posted pictures, location.

01:55:36 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 8:

How does he even care?

01:55:37 - 01:55:39 | Speaker 3:

He still had to take steps to do that.

01:55:39 - 01:55:50 | Speaker 8:

Real quick, stop that. Call his ass. This guy obviously is worried that that girl that he's now in a relationship with is going to hear this because he hung up the phone.

01:55:50 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 3:

I just love that you just told me. Stop that.

01:55:54 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 8:

No, I want to bust his ass. I want to bust him. Fred, what's up?

01:56:00 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 2:

That was a top-of-the-line USDA, A-Hole. Woo! USDA. Like, no, for real. You don't, like, you went all the way to the point to go find her Instagram. You DM her. Now you don't want to say nothing to her in the gym? Like, bro, I want to say so much stuff, but I can't.

01:56:27 - 01:56:28 | Speaker 8:

Thank you. Thank you.

01:56:28 - 01:56:35 | Speaker 2:

I'm just going to leave it at that. He's a top-of-the-line A-ho, U-S-D-A. I appreciate it.

01:56:36 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 8:

Shay, what's up? It's Second Date Update. What's going on?

01:56:39 - 01:56:41 | Speaker 5:

Hey, how are you guys doing this morning?

01:56:41 - 01:56:44 | Speaker 8:

Good. What did you want to say about Parth and what he did to Anaya?

01:56:45 - 01:56:51 | Speaker 5:

Two things. First of all, he's a total douche canoe. Okay. I have never heard that, but I love it.

01:56:51 - 01:56:52 | Speaker 8:

Yeah?

01:56:52 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 5:

I hear him saying to his girl right now, we were on a break! 100 percent and this is why i run that group on facebook are we dating

01:57:05 - 01:57:20 | Speaker 8:

wow yeah hold on we want to talk more keely what's up it's mojo in the morning hi

01:57:21 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 7:

Hey, I'm kind of in with everybody else. He's a jerk and he's a punk. And the better part of this is, hey, Anaya, you got to suck it up, buttercup.

01:57:30 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, move on. It's time to move on. Make it really uncomfortable for him. Make it really uncomfortable while you're at the gym when he walks in there, right? Working on glutes.

01:57:38 - 01:57:43 | Speaker 7:

As a matter of fact, she should go up and stand in front of him and be like, oh, hello, and keep on walking.

01:57:43 - 01:57:47 | Speaker 8:

I like you. Thank you for calling, Keeley. What's going on, Amanda?

01:57:48 - 01:57:49 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning, everyone.

01:57:49 - 01:57:50 | Speaker 8:

Good morning. What's happening?

01:57:52 - 01:58:01 | Speaker 5:

No disrespect, Anaya. You sound lovely. I'm a black, dot, dot, dot. But how did you go out with this guy in the first place? He sounds like such an angel. Yeah. Oh, my God.

01:58:01 - 01:58:04 | Speaker 8:

What was it about him that you liked, Anaya?

01:58:04 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 6:

He was cute. He was cute, you know, and I just wanted to say he was tall.

01:58:11 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 8:

Yeah. See? She wanted his marriage, too.

01:58:13 - 01:58:14 | Speaker 6:

But there's nothing wrong with that.

01:58:14 - 01:58:19 | Speaker 8:

He hid all this from her, and that's probably why. Jamie, what's up?

01:58:20 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 1:

yeah i just wanted to say that um i actually don't agree um i don't think he really owes her an explanation because that you know women do it all the time they treat men like rebounds every now and then you know if they have a bad breakup or something they sleep with a guy and then they

01:58:34 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 8:

don't call them they don't yeah but we don't we don't drop down to that level though you can't just say just because and i'm saying women do that i'm saying there are people on there both men and women that do that but you don't drop down to that level just be common decency it's

01:58:48 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 3:

It's a lot about an explanation. You don't have to give the details, and that's what I said at the beginning. But just a simple, not interested in this, in you anymore, whatever. Just to close the door.

01:58:58 - 01:59:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but again, like I said, you know, females, they will literally not text or call even ghost men all the time. But we say that's douchebag behavior as well.

01:59:07 - 01:59:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so don't do that.

01:59:08 - 01:59:27 | Speaker 8:

By the way, you should see how many times Lydia has tried to call him, and he keeps bumping the calls. He's not trying to talk to us. We have got to make this more interesting for Parth. If there's anybody that's dating Parth, just so you know, this is all going to be podcast. You can go check it out on the iHeartRadio app. Anaya, we love you, Anaya.

01:59:28 - 01:59:29 | Speaker 6:

Love you.

01:59:29 - 01:59:41 | Speaker 8:

All right. It's us. We're all vote Anaya. Or, I don't know. Anaya for president. Go Anaya. Team Anaya. I'm not voting for her. Come on.

01:59:41 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 4:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update and War of the Roses. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:59:49 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 8:

All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. You know how Cav always brings the gold to us by talking about how he went to the barber and his barber, what's his name? Daryl. Daryl.

02:00:00 - 02:00:12 | Speaker 4:

Daryl the Barber. Daryl the Barber gives him some very amazing pieces of advice on relationships. You're going to be single forever if you follow Daryl the Barber. Now, listen.

02:00:12 - 02:01:21 | Speaker 5:

Sometimes you just listen, okay? And this was one of those moments where I go and listen. I like to receive different perspectives. I like to hear how other people think and how they approach situations. So Daryl was talking to me about relationships, and it wasn't just guys in a barbershop. shout out to Ashley who sat across and she be doing her. So Ashley was in there too. It was a woman in a chair and they got to talking about men and women in relationships and how they coexist. And they started to talk about marriage and how things have changed over time or how things should change over time. And Daryl said something that had me, you know, clutch my pearls, as they say he said like the idea is that women are the prize right and that men should chase women and he said that is completely wrong and that's what's wrong with the world and why the world is the way that it is he said men need to realize that they the prize they need to stand up stand and make these women work a little harder to get them. I said, oh, really? I gotta bring this to the show.

02:01:22 - 02:01:38 | Speaker 4:

So that's where he is. Daryl has given you some gems. One of them was breaking up and how you should break up before the holidays so you don't have to buy a gift. What was the one before that? What was the first one? It was the one before that. It was almost to the point where

02:01:38 - 02:01:40 | Speaker 3:

I thought that... One was very divisive.

02:01:40 - 02:01:47 | Speaker 4:

I thought that the women of the show were going to go through the phone line and they were going to mess up his barber-like hair.

02:01:47 - 02:01:50 | Speaker 3:

Wasn't it like a breakup one or something? I can't remember what the last one was.

02:01:50 - 02:01:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, the last one was the breakup before the holidays one. Yeah. So, Kev, when he's doing this, are you writing this down in a notebook? Yeah.

02:02:00 - 02:02:06 | Speaker 5:

I pull out my phone, I'm like, oh, this is going to kill him. Or sometimes I'll just commit it to memory and say, oh, this is going to kill him.

02:02:06 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. um again his thing is that men he thinks do what again that women are the prize and that men chase

02:02:17 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 5:

women men put women on a pedestal and they need to stop doing that they need to stop doing that and realize that we're the prize and women should chase us wow we gotta call him dog question for

02:02:30 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 4:

you on daryl is he married single what is he he's single well i mean i don't know if he broke up

02:02:37 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 3:

with his girl by choice or that's what it was he was talking about his own relationship yeah yeah

02:02:42 - 02:02:52 | Speaker 4:

hold on lynn wants to make a comment what did you want to say about daryl oh hold on that's so bad what is going on with this phone line thing here we've got to get this

02:02:52 - 02:02:59 | Speaker 2:

fixed say it again oh i said um i wanted to make a comment about his friend daryl yeah

02:02:59 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 4:

hold on hold on i think i think he's on the phone tell it to him tell it to him hold on a second he's not he's on the phone i just saw daryl dialing in himself daryl hey what's up lynn

02:03:14 - 02:04:16 | Speaker 2:

wants to say something to you say clean lynn um you are an a hat um but i will but i do want to say this he's on to one thing but he's wrong about the way that he said it so i think what is wrong with the world is that it is set up that way where men chase after women and women are standing around waiting to get picked um that is the problem but not the reason you said it's not because men are the prize it's because men are the ones that are supposed to stand there and look pretty while we pick based on real intangible things um men don't know how to pick women they pick based on stupid things like what they look like and nature has shown us that it is the male of the species that is the one that's supposed to be like pretty and interesting around so the so

02:04:16 - 02:04:21 | Speaker 4:

where the where women spend their time trying to make themselves look pretty the guys are the ones

02:04:21 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 2:

that are supposed to be looking pretty for the women and think about it and guys men naturally look better like they they have long eyelashes they usually like they don't have to put on makeup and do all that stuff they're the ones that are supposed to be trying to impress us to get picked we should be the ones doing the picking. What do you think about that, Daryl? Yeah, we would pick based on better things than what they pick on.

02:04:45 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 1:

I feel like we're the prize because we're strong, we're durable, we're consistent, and women can't have babies without us. So I feel like we are the prize because we bring everything.

02:05:00 - 02:05:05 | Speaker 2:

Daryl, how long have you been single?

02:05:06 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 6:

I'm just wondering, Daryl, what these men are bringing to the table other than finances and physical strength.

02:05:13 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 3:

What is it to bring?

02:05:15 - 02:05:21 | Speaker 6:

I think that's why women aren't chasing men, though, is because you're not coming to the table with more.

02:05:21 - 02:05:30 | Speaker 3:

Because think about it. Finances make the world around, right? Right, but I can make my own finances. That's true. Well, shoot, but do you want to spend it on the bills?

02:05:31 - 02:05:32 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's what I do.

02:05:34 - 02:05:39 | Speaker 3:

That's what you do, but do you want to? If you can't have your way, would you spend it on your bills or you would go shopping?

02:05:39 - 02:06:07 | Speaker 6:

I want my own peace and happiness that doesn't require me to take care of somebody else. So if that's the expectation of me in the relationship, which, let's be honest, there are plenty of women out there who want that in a relationship, and that's great. But I think if men are going to ask to be chased, you have to bring something to the table other than my ability to go shopping when I provide that for myself. I can buy what I want for myself and pay my own bills. So what else is on the table?

02:06:09 - 02:06:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm a protector. if a guy come out and try to rob you do you want to fight him off or would you rather have a guy

02:06:15 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 6:

to fight him off i just now call me crazy don't feel like that's going to happen enough for that

02:06:23 - 02:06:44 | Speaker 3:

to be the deciding factor like there's a lot of things that us men do that we bring that that doesn't get that doesn't get shined on like you know they just be like oh we just just like No, like, men are a very important society. Like, we are. That's why we get our last, y'all get our last, man. We don't get fucked.

02:06:45 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 6:

Oh, wow. Oh, no, that's not why. It's the tradition of buying women as wives is why. We were property.

02:06:51 - 02:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Daryl, I do think that that first caller that we had had a really interesting point, that guys need to stop looking at the physical and look a little bit more, and women should look more at the physical. Like, that's an interesting thing. I think that too many times, I don't think women look for the physical in guys.

02:07:10 - 02:07:11 | Speaker 1:

No, I disagree with you.

02:07:11 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 2:

I think that, but I think more so women look at a guy to make sure he's not a douchebag because too many guys are douchebags.

02:07:17 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 1:

But the physical, if you're looking at the physical, I mean, that can help with that.

02:07:20 - 02:07:35 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, I think that maybe there's the problem. Maybe we're looking too much at physical both. That's why dating games, you know, those dating games used to, back in the day, used to have the people hidden and you didn't know what they looked like until the very end. I mean, it's love is blind. Yeah. What's up, Shelby?

02:07:35 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 5:

what happened to like masculinity and security i am not going to chase a man that's going to

02:07:44 - 02:07:58 | Speaker 1:

make me feel like the man in the relationship can i be honest though i feel like in order to have a successful relationship you need to be chasing each other yes i totally agree and once

02:07:58 - 02:08:02 | Speaker 2:

the chase i think wears off is where you see a lot of issues in relationships that's when affairs

02:08:02 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 1:

happen that's when cracks happen i i totally agree with you i a pastor told me one time like i i and now it drives me crazy i hate it when people say like relationships should be 50 50 when whatever it comes to and he's like no relationships should be 100 100 yeah you should always be putting in 100 and i think that that equates to the chase as well like both people in a relationship want to feel desired. Correct.

02:08:30 - 02:08:32 | Speaker 2:

Ricky, what did you want to say? Yeah, go ahead.

02:08:33 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 3:

Go ahead. In most cases, men don't feel appreciated. And it's not to make men seem like they're very sensitive or feminine in any type of way. It's just that men get overlooked for everything that we bring to the situation. And it's not about a lot of times if we can afford a relationship. It's about can we afford a breakup? Because a lot of times when women leads, we don't get looked at as being emotional. Like, we're an emotional wreck, too. Especially if we go through a divorce, the kids get taken, the finances get taken, the house get taken, the car get taken. So, a lot of times, we just get overlooked, and it's like, you're supposed to be a man, you're barbaric, you'll be okay. But a lot of times, men are left sad.

02:09:16 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 2:

Men have feelings, too.

02:09:18 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 3:

They have feelings, too. So, that's why I say, when we come into the situation, a woman gets the lead with everything. She gets leaves with her kids, the dogs, the house. The man has to leave with half his things going. Anything he can keep for himself.

02:09:31 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Well, I think, Daryl, I do think, Daryl, that both leave with less, unfortunately, and one of the things that they do leave with is sometimes a broken heart.

02:09:44 - 02:09:47 | Speaker 3:

It would feel better if you had a broken heart, you still got your couch.

02:09:50 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 2:

This, by the way, is Cavs Barber Daryl, Daryl the Barber, with some Some relationship advice here on the Mojo on the Morning Show. We know he's our relationship expert. Ricky wants to comment.

02:10:00 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Ricky?

02:10:01 - 02:10:12 | Speaker 4:

How's it going, Mojo and the crew? Good. Daryl looking at it wrong because Kevin know about it. Kevin comes from a Christian family, right? The Bible says you find a wife.

02:10:12 - 02:10:15 | Speaker 3:

You find a good thing. I know. I'm knowing, bro.

02:10:16 - 02:10:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, me growing up, I pray. I ask God, I want to be married by 25. So you sent me a wife. I'm doing this at 15 to 16, 17 years old. So I got married at 25. God sent me that wife. You know, that she'll be 30 years of marriage. It hasn't been gravy bussing down. It'd take two to make it right. But if your household is not in order, it's something that's got to do with the head of the house. Who's the head of the house, Kevin?

02:10:41 - 02:10:43 | Speaker 3:

Why are you asking me? You got to talk to Darren.

02:10:44 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 4:

No, no, that's your partner. No, no, no. Kay, I'm with you, but you brought her to the show. Yeah. But my point is, we the head of our household. If our household is not in order, it's something that's got to do with the husband. If my wife's not happy, I got to go to her. What's wrong, babe? Let's talk about it. So, Kevin, you know, women don't chase men. Come on now. I'm not disagreeing with you, bro. But listen.

02:11:10 - 02:11:52 | Speaker 3:

I would like to disagree because, listen, I get what you're saying. I understand. And that is Bible. I get it. You know, I understand all that. But just because a woman is not happy, it shouldn't be happy wife's happy life. It should be happy spouse, happy house. So both parties should be happy because a lot of men, I feel a lot of times, a lot of men be dead or have a stroke because they're so busy trying to make their wives happy, and then they're not happy. So I'm not saying that it doesn't, you know, you being head of household shouldn't be a responsibility and everything, you know, that comes with that. But I'm just saying, like, we shouldn't be getting overlooked neither.

02:11:52 - 02:12:17 | Speaker 1:

I do like that. Happy, happy spouse. Happy house. Can I, can I ask a question? Can I interject for one second? I want to know, how does this relationship talk come about? Does it, cause I know Kev's, you know, going through, you know, breakup and, you know, he's trying to figure some, some stuff out, moving out and stuff. Does it come up because you're trying to help him? You don't even talk about my stuff.

02:12:17 - 02:13:03 | Speaker 3:

No, no, a lot of men come in a barbershop, a lot of men come in a barbershop, and these are discussions that talk amongst men that they're not talked about publicly. See, a lot of men don't want to say certain things because they have marriages or they have relationships and they don't want to offend women. I'm just crazy enough to just go in and say it. I'll be feeling like, look, man, at the end of the day, it's not all about women. And, you know, society, even when it comes to, like, holidays, Mother's Day and everything, holiday, you don't get nothing. Like, everything is overlooked about a man when a man does so much for a relationship. The man is a prize in the situation. I'm not saying in the way of you, like a woman and pretty and dainty. And I'm just saying as a man, like, look what you bring to a relationship. Like, look who you are as a man.

02:13:03 - 02:13:07 | Speaker 1:

Do you think guys don't have enough confidence in themselves? Is that why you're saying this?

02:13:08 - 02:13:11 | Speaker 3:

I think society just pushes narrative that's not necessarily true.

02:13:11 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:13:12 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 3:

I think it's always pushed into the fact that, hey, the woman, the woman, the woman, the woman. It's like, no. No way.

02:13:20 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 1:

Lauren, what did you want to say?

02:13:23 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 2:

So I think Shannon and poor Daryl is an asshat. It is saying the same thing.

02:13:31 - 02:13:35 | Speaker 1:

So you're saying Shannon and Daryl are saying the same thing?

02:13:35 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 2:

Kind of, yeah. Yes, because Shannon's just saying it in a better way than this asshat is. Poor Daryl. Let's be nice.

02:13:45 - 02:14:04 | Speaker 1:

But you understand, Shannon's speaking the language to you because, Lauren, you're a woman. Daryl's speaking to a lot of guys. If you look at the text messages, every guy is saying, Daryl's saying what I want to say. So I think the problem is that we speak a different language and we all need to figure out what the common language is.

02:14:04 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 2:

Get on the same page. Yeah, exactly. And, yes, you guys want to be appreciated, of course. It's the same thing. You guys are saying the same thing.

02:14:12 - 02:14:41 | Speaker 1:

So I will say this. Listen, I've been married a long time, and Chelsea and I jokingly will say we've been married for 30 years. How many of those years were happy? Maybe, I don't know, less than a few. But a lot of the times the problems come into play with what both Shannon and Daryl are saying, and the problems come into play that everybody, But you always have one chasing instead of both working together at the same time. If you row a boat and you row against each other, what is going to happen? That boat's going to go in a circle.

02:14:41 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. And you're not going to get anywhere.

02:14:43 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 1:

So Daryl the Barber on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Love having Daryl on.

02:14:48 - 02:14:49 | Speaker 3:

Daryl, you need your own segment.

02:14:49 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 1:

I'm thinking that we should get a sponsored segment from Daryl. Brought to you by Dave Mendelsohn, Attorneys at Law. I don't know. Could you imagine?

02:15:00 - 02:15:03 | Speaker 3:

The segment is ex-Daryl, doesn't it? It's ex-Daryl.

02:15:03 - 02:15:33 | Speaker 4:

Ex-Daryl. Ex-Daryl. Ex-Daryl. Dick, Daryl, Daryl does the, I don't know. I'm trying to alliterate. How do we Daryl? Daryl, Daryl's do's and don'ts. Oh. There you go. I like it. I like that. Daryl. Always love alliteration. We got to get a picture of Daryl cutting hair, too, for the promo picture. Can we do that? I'm going to be up there later, bro. I'll grab one. Oh, yeah, yeah. Most definitely, man. I'll see you later. And by the way, don't anybody go into Daryl's Barbershop and scream out, asshat!

02:15:34 - 02:15:43 | Speaker 3:

You know Kev. Hey, Kev knows. He always dresses classy. He's sometimes sassy. He's secretly smart-ass-y. This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:15:44 - 02:15:55 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Shannon had a blonde moment happen yesterday. Although I don't call this a blonde moment.

02:15:55 - 02:15:56 | Speaker 2:

It's just a Shannon moment.

02:15:56 - 02:16:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, this is one where it seems like it could be an honest mistake, but what happened?

02:16:01 - 02:17:58 | Speaker 2:

It was absolutely an honest mistake. So my sister Emily, we were celebrating her birthday last night. And one of the things that she really wanted to do for her birthday, like she didn't want to do gifts or anything. She wanted all of us to do an experience. And so we went to one of those candlelight concerts. I don't know if you've seen them. Like I always see the ads on Instagram and Facebook. And I think to myself, are these things real or is this a scam? They're very real. and we went to the taylor swift by candlelight last night which was so much fun um and so my my other sister jacqueline had ordered a cake for her and she's vegan so she got a cake from a place here in eastern market and she had texted me and said can you pick it up on your way home from work because this this bakery is literally right or right around the corner from your new studio i said yep no problem so yesterday after the after the show i rolled up to this place the owner brought it out to my car i put it on my front seat went home put it on my kitchen counter i um i had a couple of meetings in the afternoon we had to host the wicked premiere i mean by the time i picked up the kids from school and got back home it was like 5 30 and my mom came over to my house because we were all gonna go out to dinner together and i was driving with my mom and she looked at the cake sitting on my counter which mind you i had not even opened or anything so i didn't even know what it looked like i just knew it was a vegan cake from this bakery that i picked it up for from an easter market and my mom goes how long have you had the cake out i go i don't know i got it at like noon did anybody tell you it was an ice cream cake come on oh my god no everybody failed to tell me that the damn cake was an ice cream cake so i just sent a picture to the group chat this thing was so melted i mean it was it was no longer an ice cream cake it was a

02:17:58 - 02:18:06 | Speaker 4:

milkshake that we stuck some candles in when you picked it so the person put it in your car but when you picked it up out of the car put it on the counter it didn't feel like it was cold or

02:18:06 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 2:

anything like that it did feel chilly but didn't feel like it was cold yesterday when i pick up and it wasn't from christine's i they they make sure that they're like a little chilled and they tell you. Put it on the counter and let it get to room temperature. I literally thought that

02:18:19 - 02:18:23 | Speaker 4:

it was that. And it wasn't, you were picking this up at Dairy Queen and it wasn't like an Oreo

02:18:23 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

cake or something. I couldn't even tell you the name of the place that I picked it up from because my sister said, call this number. He's going to run it out to your car.

02:18:30 - 02:18:32 | Speaker 4:

That's it. Honestly, I would have made that mistake too.

02:18:32 - 02:18:44 | Speaker 2:

That's a drug deal. You guys, I felt so bad. And my sister who bought the cake was not super thrilled with me and also was like, how did it look like

02:18:44 - 02:18:50 | Speaker 4:

at the end of the night? I sent you a picture. I didn't see it. Where's it at? Is it in the...

02:18:50 - 02:18:51 | Speaker 2:

Here, I'll send it to the group text. I put it in my prep.

02:18:52 - 02:18:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, it's in the... Oh, here, no, I'll find it.

02:18:55 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 2:

You guys, I felt so bad. I'm sure a vegan ice cream cake is not cheating. Oh, my God. And it looked like it had been beautiful at one point. Like, I didn't even untape the lid to look at it because...

02:19:08 - 02:19:15 | Speaker 4:

You guys still put the candles in. That's great. By the way, I can only imagine what a vegan ice cream birthday cake tastes like.

02:19:15 - 02:19:19 | Speaker 2:

It tasted delicious. Come on. It's been melted. It did.

02:19:20 - 02:19:20 | Speaker 4:

Really?

02:19:20 - 02:19:27 | Speaker 2:

Well, once my mom said that to me, because we still had to go out to dinner at that point. Yeah. So I put it in the freezer for a little bit.

02:19:27 - 02:19:28 | Speaker 4:

And it froze up a little bit?

02:19:28 - 02:19:29 | Speaker 2:

That's still what it was like.

02:19:29 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 4:

I just saw something the other day that if you're trying to save money, they said that going vegan will save you money.

02:19:35 - 02:19:39 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, meat's super expensive. Yeah, I saw that.

02:19:39 - 02:19:46 | Speaker 4:

But I didn't realize that I would think that all the other stuff, the trying to find things would be expensive.

02:19:46 - 02:19:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but think about the stuff that's like truly super expensive at the grocery store. It's like milk and cheese and meat.

02:19:54 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. Although I would think that the fake stuff would be bad. So that's funny. Oh, my God, Shannon.

02:20:00 - 02:20:02 | Speaker 2:

That is an honest mistake

02:20:02 - 02:20:05 | Speaker 1:

that I think anybody would have made. Like not knowing.

02:20:05 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 3:

I love ice cream cakes. You ruined everything. I absolutely did. My poor sister's like, she didn't ask for one single gift, nothing. And like, I effed up the cake.

02:20:16 - 02:20:25 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of a bummer that she's not here today, but Lydia did the same thing for my birthday when you're here where she got me an ice cream cake and just throughout the show, it just melted everywhere. Oh, really?

02:20:25 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 3:

I can't be trusted with cakes because I don't know if you remember, maybe it was two years ago now, my girlfriends all Venmo'd me to pick up a birthday cake for one of our other friends who was celebrating a birthday and I put it outside to keep it cold and the squirrels ate the whole thing. Oh jeez I remember that. Why do I have such bad luck

02:20:42 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 1:

with cakes? I have to tell you that I don't know if I'm going to like the idea that we're now working in the city because of what happened to you. I feel like I've had to run more errands now. Like people asking you for something? Like people saying hey can you go pick this up or can you like randomly this last week everybody's like hey so where's your radio studios at and i'll tell them and they'll be like oh that's cool could you ride by and like people have asked me to go pick up things at the ford field uh gift shop could they want something that's there people have asked me like hey is there any way that you could like run and go get something at quicken like a buddy of mine that like forgot something yeah i'm like i don't want to be that i'm not doordash by the way doordashing here at the station is kind of getting weird too that the fact that the doordash guys don't know how to get to us we gotta have some signs put out in front what's up bethany

02:21:31 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 4:

how you doing oh i'm doing all just uh get ready for work oh thanks for listening i wanted to let shannon know that uh this is not her fault no she didn't have all the pieces of the puzzle i wouldn't if someone told me to pick up a cake i would put it i would have done the exact same thing i had it did unless they gave me the information that it was ice cream well the

02:21:49 - 02:21:53 | Speaker 1:

people at the at the bakery should have said by the way it's ice cream cake get it in a freezer

02:21:53 - 02:22:08 | Speaker 3:

or something anybody anybody who was involved the only thing he said to me was make sure you use a really big knife to cut it and i thought well okay it's a big cake yeah but i think he meant that because it was going to be rock hard right thanks bethany what's up aaron how you

02:22:08 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 5:

doing good i did the exact same thing as shannon see honest mistake i was actually it wasn't my family member though i was working and i was serving at a local restaurant and um they asked me to put the cake in the back by the time it was time for cake i went in the back and the whole uh cake was melted all over the price oh no that's at a restaurant too um yeah we uh fixed it up with some whipped cream and some sprinkles that we had so i just took it out like that and

02:22:36 - 02:23:12 | Speaker 1:

i was like i am so sorry has anybody ever done this have you guys ever because i think i talked about this on the air years ago went to the uh kroger and you know how they give you the little plastic bags and you put them in the back of your car and when you move around things get out of it A half a thing of ice cream, whatever, I don't even know how big they are, those little cardboard briars, ice creams or whatever, fell out of my bag, melted, and I had no clue that it was in my car for as long as it was. My car smelled like rotten feet. It was so bad for the longest time. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself.

02:23:13 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 5:

You guys too, thanks a lot.

02:23:14 - 02:24:27 | Speaker 1:

Although the weather's getting warmer now, you can use your car as your icebox if you want. yesterday was a just chaotic day i had to run back out i had to go out and i did prepare for an event that i'm doing on thursday for dte energy and christine briggs i had to get something for that so i pull my car into my driveway i don't pull it into the garage because i'm going to be pulling out anytime soon i go inside my uh house and luke sits on the couch right away and i knew he was only gonna be home for a little bit so i wanted to spend some time with him turns on espn the doorbell rings and i go answer it it's my neighbor at the door who's telling me hey you know your car's running oh i pulled my car into my driveway and i left it running when i went inside and i was inside for no joke minimum 45 minutes maybe an hour or so and i had my car running and i thought to myself i'm like oh my god i just pulled the shannon yes oh my god the famous story

02:24:27 - 02:24:47 | Speaker 3:

of what concert did we go was it the beach boys i think it was something super super super random in the summer at freedom hill and i went back to my car cab after the concert was over and it had been running the entire time the entire time it was very cool because the ac was on but also i had

02:24:47 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 1:

no gas bro yeah because i was already real close to empty by the way she legit for was it three hours yeah three hours let it run so i get into my car in my car saying

02:25:00 - 02:25:27 | Speaker 5:

same situation because i actually had the air on yesterday because it was kind of toasty it was i don't know how you guys felt it was a little humid so i get in my car to turn it off my car is is like nice inside though you know how when your car is running for such a long period of time i think there was sopping water underneath yeah from the air conditioning and i'm like oh my god has anybody ever done this before i think with key fobs that we're more likely to for sure because we walk out

02:25:27 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 6:

of the cars and we don't realize exactly this happens to me pretty often and luckily i have a car that once the key fob has a certain distance between it and the car it'll give me like a oh it's like a beat like a beat it's not like a lot i mean you see my car it's not like that but this is one of the features that i'm proud of and it happens to me more than ever when i'm at the grocery store yeah for some reason when i'm at the grocery store i hop out of the car expeditiously so to speak and i just forget to turn my car off i don't know what it is but when

02:26:00 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 5:

you do this and you leave it running for that period of time you start worrying about gas mileage i don't know like i normally don't get crazy about gas mileage i mean obviously gas is expensive but you go oh my god i cannot believe the gas mileage that i just so i'm like sitting there thinking to myself how much gas did i have beforehand because my car right now is only on

02:26:20 - 02:26:47 | Speaker 1:

like a quarter of a tank i must not have had very much mine's confusing now like i can push the button because mine's a push button start i have a gmc acadia and you can like push it and like some some features will come on yeah or you can push it and the whole car will come on and then sometimes when i turn it off i'm like is it off is it off yes everything's still on the lights and my lights usually stay on for about 30 i like can't figure the damn thing out sometimes i feel

02:26:47 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 5:

like an idiot and i've been so bad lately i have been not locking my car when i've come into the studios here so there's been times where i'll go out to my car and my car's open and i'm thinking i thought i locked it because i always wait for the beep beep you know to go off what's going on

02:27:02 - 02:27:25 | Speaker 4:

kylie you there yeah i'm here um i work at the airport well i work at a parking lot near the airport oh which one you work at i work at quick park okay yeah so um people will do this when they go to leave for vacation they'll leave their cars running and they'll have to write it down on a clipboard so because they come back and they try to say that someone's like in their gas a lot

02:27:25 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 5:

oh no they left their car running oh my god so people will leave to go on a vacation to come

02:27:32 - 02:27:38 | Speaker 4:

home to an empty tank of gas god that would suck yeah yeah so we got to run and get them gas and

02:27:38 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 5:

fill them back up and get them on their way oh my god by the way that's nice of you guys to do that What are you guys charging a day over at Quick Park?

02:27:47 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 4:

It's $14 a day right now.

02:27:49 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 5:

That's actually pretty good. That's not bad. You stay at the airport, you're going to be paying well into the $20s probably, right?

02:27:55 - 02:27:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That blue day. Especially with the holiday season coming out.

02:27:58 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 5:

I'm so lazy, by the way. I just don't want to have to take the van shuttle. Like, I hate the van shuttle.

02:28:04 - 02:28:16 | Speaker 6:

Yo, I'm going to be honest with you. We figured out the price. I parked at a hotel. Did you? They had the free van shuttle. Really? I did that. Double tree? Did you get cookies, too? No, they had a little donut salad.

02:28:17 - 02:28:19 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Christina? Hi.

02:28:19 - 02:28:20 | Speaker 2:

Good morning.

02:28:20 - 02:28:22 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:28:22 - 02:28:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, this story got me. So, a couple, like, 15 years ago, before cars were all new and cool and, you know, had fobs and all that, we went downtown for St. Patrick's Day. So, we parked on the street and walked because we went to all these different bars. And when we got back to our car, like, three hours later, the car was still running and there was a homeless man sleeping on the hood. Oh, my God.

02:28:43 - 02:28:51 | Speaker 5:

Keep it warm. Oh, my God. I thought you were going to say that there was a homeless man inside just enjoying himself. That would have been kind of wild.

02:28:52 - 02:28:55 | Speaker 3:

No, just sleeping like a baby on that warm hood.

02:28:56 - 02:29:01 | Speaker 5:

You know what, though? That was nice. Did you feel good? Did you offer him anything to eat or anything like that?

02:29:01 - 02:29:06 | Speaker 3:

No, as soon as we walked up, he walked away. I probably should have. I was kind of young and drunk.

02:29:06 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 6:

Did you walk up or did you hit the lock button and try to wake him up?

02:29:10 - 02:29:10 | Speaker 2:

No, he walked up.

02:29:10 - 02:29:14 | Speaker 6:

She just hit the panic button. That's his alarm.

02:29:14 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 2:

Actually, he just drove away.

02:29:18 - 02:29:31 | Speaker 7:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WBKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Live.

02:29:32 - 02:29:51 | Speaker 5:

Mojo in the Morning. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. lydia is going to do a topic up here next because lydia caught her mom doing something invading her privacy as they the fancy people say or privacy as people like myself say i never get

02:29:51 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 4:

any privacy because i live with my parents for those who don't know but um i was cooking dinner for myself and my mom we've been building

02:30:00 - 02:30:20 | Speaker 3:

a relationship and i was thinking you know what i'm going to make her dinner on saturday and so as i was cooking dinner i was prepping all the ingredients and my back was turned to the kitchen table so my mom was sitting at the kitchen table and i thought nothing of it until i turned around

02:30:20 - 02:30:26 | Speaker 5:

and i saw her looking through my phone oh really right there with you there oh yeah

02:30:26 - 02:30:52 | Speaker 3:

i was i was pretty upset at her for that what was she looking for um so we've been talking about that guy who kind of ghosted me that i went to church with and after a conversation that i had with her she told me that she was looking for messages as to why him and i stopped talking and thought that looking through my phone was the way to find her answers so instead of just having you

02:30:52 - 02:31:03 | Speaker 5:

tell her everything that was going on and then making her own assumption, she was thinking that there was something that you either were leaving off or maybe didn't see

02:31:03 - 02:31:21 | Speaker 3:

as a flag. Exactly. And I love your mom, but that's not the way to get somebody to open up and tell you information when you break that trust. Well, because now it's like we're rebuilding our relationship, but you just went through my phone. Does she go through your phone often? I hope not. But here's the thing.

02:31:21 - 02:31:27 | Speaker 2:

my passcode is her birthday that was my question was how did she get into it so she knew your

02:31:27 - 02:31:39 | Speaker 3:

passcode she has been looking over my shoulder for a long time like that's been her thing is looking over my shoulder when i'm texting yeah when we're at dinner even when we're out shopping she likes to look at what i'm looking at or she'll make comments on it when i'm not even noticing

02:31:39 - 02:32:17 | Speaker 5:

that she's looking at my phone i do that with everybody though in her in all fairness not even just yeah i do i listen if i see somebody doing some texting i'm like i knew it i see you guys over there doing stuff i'm like okay hold on kp pull that camera up i think it's time for you to get one of the screen protectors that has the privacy i got one and everything do you remember when you were uh younger and uh and this is for everybody because you and your parents would go through your room to like snoop for stuff yes does that happen lydia because you still live at home Does mom still, you think, go through your room and snoop?

02:32:18 - 02:32:25 | Speaker 3:

For sure. I even have hid, like, edibles in my dresser because I didn't want her finding them.

02:32:25 - 02:32:29 | Speaker 5:

Does she ever pull out the, it's my house, my rules, or you live under my roof?

02:32:29 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 3:

No, she doesn't ever throw that in my face because I live there and I don't do to her wanting me to.

02:32:34 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 5:

Uh-oh, here she is, by the way. Hello there, mom.

02:32:38 - 02:32:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

02:32:39 - 02:33:04 | Speaker 5:

Of course she's listening. This, by the way, good morning. i know this is a this is one of our p1 p1s lydia's mom she listens all the time she's the best so when you heard when you heard lydia start off by talking and so i was making dinner with my mom on saturday did you know what was coming next yep i sure did so okay why did you just go through

02:33:04 - 02:33:49 | Speaker 4:

her phone and not just say hey can i see so in the last uh past few days i've been noticing like when she's texting or she's talking to someone she's like smiling and she's just in this really beautiful smile and then she'll text and she'll put the phone down and i'm like hmm i wonder if and then i don't know i just i assumed that it was this guy and that everything was going well however come to find out while i was i snooped um you know things weren't going very well so i i had to find out i had you wanted to know why i took advantage of the fact that i

02:33:49 - 02:34:14 | Speaker 5:

saw the phone on the on the table and i i know the code uh so now while i while i condemn what you did did you see anything she said about us i'd like to know what's going on in lydia's life i'm i'm totally against this but i actually believe that the cia should look at lydia's

02:34:14 - 02:34:24 | Speaker 1:

phone and find out what she's doing by the way she was smiling because me and lydia were talking about the bachelor this past weekend and everything that happened you think a man is making her smile

02:34:24 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 5:

i thought it was me kevin you don't even yeah yeah um uh did so now that you know that she was upset about this thing are you uh are you up you know upset with yourself for doing it or are you bold enough to say no this is my house tad bit remorseful however uh you know i just

02:34:48 - 02:34:54 | Speaker 4:

i just wanted to know because she has been pretty private lately and knowing you you are not a tad

02:34:54 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 5:

built remorseful you you apologize for christmas gifts like you oh my god i'm so

02:35:00 - 02:35:09 | Speaker 4:

sorry like wait a second you just gave me the greatest gift in the world i am so sorry that it wasn't you know it's like you are you're you and our lydia gets that from you but you guys are

02:35:09 - 02:35:21 | Speaker 3:

ultimate pleasers so yes we we try i understand it though man she wants to protect and look out for her baby girl i'm 26 and you still gonna be her baby girl forever that's never gonna change

02:35:21 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 1:

and that's fine but looking through my phone is next level baby girl like i feel you we passed the rocking me to sleep stage. You've got to let me go through this one on my own.

02:35:31 - 02:35:40 | Speaker 4:

As a dad, who pays the film bill? Who pays for that cell phone? My dad does. Oh. He still pays for it. Which comes out of your mom's money, too.

02:35:40 - 02:35:42 | Speaker 6:

How do you think I get my allowance?

02:35:44 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 4:

Wait, does he know that you go through the phone, or does he ever ask you what's going on?

02:35:48 - 02:35:51 | Speaker 6:

Well, you know, every now and then, he'll say, do you know anything new about Lydia?

02:35:52 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, question. Do you go through his phone?

02:35:55 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 6:

no i do not know the code to his phone really that's interesting

02:36:00 - 02:36:36 | Speaker 4:

no i do not know you share it with your mom no no she knows lydia says she knows the code to your to george's phone so well see they're tit for tat listen the worst part about this thing is like if i didn't know lydia's mom i would say okay this is horrible that she's doing it but knowing Lydia's mom like she's the nicest lady in the world which doesn't give Lydia any grace from all of us that we're all sitting there going yeah we side with her mom although KP seemed like you were really against this because it must be that your mom goes through your stuff huh

02:36:36 - 02:37:07 | Speaker 2:

uh well no she hasn't as of late but she did in high school I actually had to break up with somebody because she looked through my phone really what did she find in your phone um he had sent me um some messages about like a party he was going to and my mom thought he was quote unquote irresponsible so i had to break up with him that literal night like i had to literally just end it and delete his number and it was super sad and i actually matched with that guy on hinge oh really later in life about a couple months ago yeah i want to know this is what i would like to

02:37:07 - 02:38:00 | Speaker 4:

know i'd like to know back in the past what did you catch your parents going through or you know what did they you know go through your phone and do uh or go through your rooms whatever it could be um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 and then if you are a 20 something like lydia is that lives with your parents do you believe your parents are going through your spit are they still going through your stuff because i would bet that they're in and i know that this is the case because i did it with joe and jacob and i do it with luke uh luke's the only one that's still at home but i'm going to tell you this man i go through that room he was just recently home over the weekend and i want to See what the hell's going on in that place. First off, half the time, he steals my crap. I'm, like, finding stuff of mine. Here's why I go through my excuses. I can't find, like, my shaving cream or my razor or my toothpaste. He just goes down and he thinks I'm a freaking CVS.

02:38:01 - 02:38:01 | Speaker 3:

You know?

02:38:02 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 4:

So, all right. Lydia's mom, we love you.

02:38:06 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 3:

So much. We love you, too. So much.

02:38:08 - 02:38:08 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:38:08 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 3:

I love you guys, too. We love you the most. Yeah, I said it just like, who love you the most is... It hurts. It hurts. Yeah. So my mom was never a snooper. She was always in my business. Yeah. But she was never a snooper. But I was also a very filthy child. My room was probably the nastiest place you've ever been to in your life. And there were times where my mom and my grandma would come over. My grandma would come over and be like, we got to clean this. And I remember my mom found these bottles of alcohol. And there was like seven of them. And I remember she was like crying. She was like, Kevin, there were so many bottles. She thought I had like an alcoholic. Really?

02:38:45 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 4:

But it just took you that many bottles to get.

02:38:47 - 02:38:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was party after party after party.

02:38:48 - 02:38:55 | Speaker 4:

And I just took the bottles. Christina's going to bring us way back. Christina? Hi. What did you catch your dad going through back in the day?

02:38:57 - 02:39:01 | Speaker 5:

He was scrolling through my AIM, my AOL Instant Messenger.

02:39:01 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Back in the day, a little AOL Instant Messenger. That's how we communicated. That's how we talked dirty to our friends.

02:39:08 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 5:

Is that a walkie-talkie? Yeah, no. I never used it.

02:39:13 - 02:39:17 | Speaker 4:

That is AOL dial-up right there. So, what did he find?

02:39:18 - 02:39:35 | Speaker 5:

He found out that I was making out with my boyfriend at the time. And I was only, like, 15. It was, like, the first thing that I ever, like, found out. I didn't know I was doing that. I was, like, making out and, like, rolling around in bed with him. Oh, jeez. And I lied and was, like, no, I was just trying to show off. I was, like, joking, so I was saying it to my friend. I was, like, no, it's not true.

02:39:36 - 02:39:39 | Speaker 4:

You guys weren't, like, grinding and doing all that other crap, were you? Grinding.

02:39:39 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 5:

we weren't we weren't doing anything too crazy but okay you just you talked about rolling around

02:39:47 - 02:39:52 | Speaker 4:

in bed with him i'm checking every phone i'll check it all the phones jenny what's up

02:39:53 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 5:

hey mojo hey i am 39 years old just moved back in with my parents after a divorce

02:40:00 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 6:

and she still goes through my stuff.

02:40:02 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 3:

See, I'm telling you, it's her house, right? Her house, her rules.

02:40:06 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 6:

It's her house, her rules. So I just make sure that I have really good hiding spots.

02:40:11 - 02:40:13 | Speaker 3:

Taylor, what's up?

02:40:14 - 02:40:37 | Speaker 5:

Hi, good morning. Morning. When I was in high school, my parents would actually catch me sharing my homework back and forth with other kids and then ground me for a couple months and then not give me my phone back. Oh, God. So that's how my parents went through my phone and caught me. now you are how old now i am 26 years old now i still live with my mom i don't think she goes

02:40:37 - 02:40:42 | Speaker 3:

through my oh she does no i don't think so she goes through everything she's in her she's in

02:40:42 - 02:40:53 | Speaker 5:

your room right now while you're talking to mojo in the morning probably probably because my dog likes to sleep in there when i leave so that's her excuse i was just getting the dog and taking

02:40:53 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 3:

the dog out i'm telling you you don't think that your family's going through your stuff if you're

02:40:57 - 02:41:26 | Speaker 6:

living under their roof right now katherine what's up hey yeah when i was in high school my mom just just nipped through the sea and i knew she was doing it and i got so tired of it i put some weed up in my closet i don't like a little lip of the shelf in front and she even found it there did she smoke it oh no no my mom is super religious i about got a beating of my life

02:41:26 - 02:41:40 | Speaker 3:

Because I can tell you this, Chelsea and I have gone through our boys' rooms, and when we would find all the weed pens and stuff, they would come home from wherever they were, and we'd be sitting on the couch pretending like we were actually smoking them. They'd be like, oh, look what we got here. Hold on. What do I got?

02:41:41 - 02:41:49 | Speaker 6:

She literally had to get a step stool, climb up there, and almost climb into the top of the closet. So how she knew that space, I'll never know.

02:41:49 - 02:41:52 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that funny? You put it up high because Mom's small.

02:41:52 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 2:

Little do you know, she's got, like, some kind of a ladder going on. You know what was awful, too, is when you had that stuff and it was gone because they took it, but you didn't want to go and say, hey, did you go through my room and find that? Because then you're calling yourself out. So you just both kind of deny that anything happened until one of them, like, it's like chilling. I don't know where it came from.

02:42:09 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 3:

Jill wants to say something to Lydia and talk about what her mom did. What is it, Jill? What do you want to say?

02:42:17 - 02:42:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't agree with going through your adult child's phone. I don't really think it even matters who pays for the phone bill. Lydia's a grown woman. My daughter's 20, and I would never.

02:42:29 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 3:

So you as a mom of a 20-year-old right now, if you worried about your daughter and something going on in your daughter's life, you wouldn't go through or try to investigate it a little bit more before you got it up?

02:42:43 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 4:

If I thought my daughter was doing drugs or hard drugs or, I don't know,

02:42:50 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 3:

like maybe something sure if you thought it was something that was going to hurt them person that

02:42:55 - 02:42:59 | Speaker 4:

i just don't know what her mom would even think she was doing well and i think that lydia's mom

02:42:59 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 3:

wants the best for her i truly believe it but i think that when you break that trust that's the

02:43:03 - 02:43:19 | Speaker 4:

hardest thing to come time sometimes get back and that's the thing too is like i try my best to foster like a open relationship with my kids so that they can come talk to me if they need help because there wasn't anything that they couldn't talk to me about if lydia's mom is listening just

02:43:19 - 02:43:26 | Speaker 3:

ask mike kev or myself to go through all that stuff we'll we'll find her phone i gotcha yeah

02:43:26 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 6:

i'm just gonna see some selfies and uh clothing links we'll be the judge yeah

02:43:29 - 02:43:38 | Speaker 2:

thank you we know we have the right to remain silent we just suck at it mojo in the morning

02:43:38 - 02:43:56 | Speaker 3:

channel 955 megan mick had an interesting situation happened to her when you were out shopping where were you are you can you not say or uh probably not i would because you're gonna call out the person all right go ahead um i don't know what that was that was that was

02:43:56 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 1:

your own personal sound effects there i like that it's like a a gremlin version of megan the stallion um okay so i was at a store yesterday and i was checking out and can i just say this this cashier very very not nice person at one point it kept asking me for warranty options and they were like i i don't know what's going on you have to click on the screen and i was like okay i will thank you so much for your kindness uh but her their sorry their manager walked by and let's say her name was lola and the manager was like lola everything going good we doing good and she ignores her and she goes lola we good today and ignored her and the manager just walked on and this girl looks up at me she stops ringing up my stuff this is the first thing she said other than yelling at me i effing hate this job

02:45:00 - 02:45:26 | Speaker 5:

And then she looked back down, started scanning the rest of my items, didn't talk to me. She yelled at me to click on the screen. She said that she hated her effing job and then did not talk to me again for the rest of the transaction. It was so hysterical, awkward, uncomfortable, all at the same time. But I'm wondering, have you guys ever heard something just so out of pocket from somebody on the clock? Because it was so wild to hear her say it. Yeah.

02:45:26 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 3:

I get it. We've all worked retail in this room, I think. Mojo, have you worked retail?

02:45:31 - 02:45:31 | Speaker 2:

I have, yes.

02:45:31 - 02:45:34 | Speaker 3:

And especially during the holidays, you just want to crawl.

02:45:35 - 02:45:47 | Speaker 2:

I worked retail and I was the guy that would stock shelves. Like I was the one that had to like restock. And I remember dropping something and throwing down the F-bomb so loud. And you got customers all over you.

02:45:48 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 3:

So Thanksgiving, no, the morning before Thanksgiving, if you follow me on Instagram, you saw this. I was the crazy person in line at 7.45 in the morning at Trader Joe's to get flowers for my Thanksgiving tables and stuff. There were probably about 60 of us waiting. It was like the mob getting ready to go in and you could see the Trader Joe's employees inside like huddled up having a little staff meeting or whatever. And so after we all got inside and I was checking out and there were two guys that were checking me out. And one was like very cheerful and definitely in the holiday spirit and was loving it. And the other one was like your girl, very, very quiet. And I said to him, do you thrive in these situations or do you dread these situations? And he goes, I'm supposed to say that I love this, but I don't love this. It was the most negative thing because, you know, I think Trader Joe's employees are like Jesus on earth.

02:46:40 - 02:46:43 | Speaker 2:

What is the story with those guys? Them and Chick-fil-A workers.

02:46:43 - 02:46:46 | Speaker 3:

They're so happy all the time, but not this man on this day.

02:46:46 - 02:46:55 | Speaker 2:

Really? They have mass quantities of people that are just being pains in the butts. And although most people that go to Trader Joe's seem like they're happy. Like, I don't know what the story is.

02:46:55 - 02:46:59 | Speaker 3:

But they always find something normally to compliment you on. Yes. One of your purchases. And he did not.

02:46:59 - 02:47:15 | Speaker 2:

He did not compliment any of my purchases. Do you know what I did that I cannot believe? Because you guys know I will not wait for anything. I mean, I'm literally the person that will get leave things early because I don't want to have to wait. Do you know that I waited for an hour and 30 minutes for a honey-baked ham?

02:47:15 - 02:47:16 | Speaker 3:

No, you did not.

02:47:16 - 02:47:35 | Speaker 2:

That I pre-ordered and was supposedly. Yeah. Why? And actually, I waited with Cody, our marketing director. Not that we went together. We both saw each other in the line and decided that we were going to camp out together. It reminded me of the days when I would camp out for NSYNC tickets. You know what I mean? Yeah, I took a master. Yeah.

02:47:35 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why were you waiting over an hour when you already pre-ordered?

02:47:38 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 2:

Because they had not very smart people, I think, that were running the show. And so we were standing out in this line. the line for buying that day was shorter than the line for the pre-sale because so many people pre-saled but they had no system in place and literally we're all waiting in this line in a cold weather and it was just awful um but i like when when uh employees are honest with you i don't

02:48:03 - 02:48:15 | Speaker 1:

know we've all had jobs as long as they're not yelling at me yeah don't yeah for sure don't cross the line but i feel like we've all had jobs that we've hated right and like you show up and you got to put on the face but deep inside you're like i can't wait until five o'clock so i can

02:48:15 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 2:

lead his bitch oh man well i mean the most uh famous of the radio people ever was i netta the

02:48:20 - 02:48:45 | Speaker 1:

mood setter do you remember i netta i quit this bitch i mean that was i still want to hear the full break oh it's one of that one of my favorite moments ever with every company every employee should get a at least one i quit this bitch and you can still return yeah you know i mean like we need a day where we can just say i quit this bitch but we don't actually quit yeah you know i mean like a sick day but i quit this bitch day it doesn't have to be one day or can it be like One day a year. One day a year, yeah, yeah.

02:48:45 - 02:48:52 | Speaker 2:

It replenished. And I roll over. What's going on, Stacey? Hey, guys. How are you today? Good. What's going on with you?

02:48:53 - 02:49:10 | Speaker 4:

Good. So, I'm just getting ready for work, you know. Got to do that thing. And I don't want to. Every day I wake up. I mean, I love children. This is my job, but... What do you do? I don't want to get out of bed. I own a daycare, y'all. Oh. Great.

02:49:10 - 02:49:14 | Speaker 2:

do you honestly do you ever like call the kids names or anything like that just because you're

02:49:14 - 02:50:01 | Speaker 4:

angry i have one her middle name we'll say is ann and my alter personality is andrea and when we're having a day i call her by her first name and then andrea because if she is on one i'm like and her mom will pick up she's like how are we today i'm like oh we had an andrea day and she's like, oh, I love that. It's an Andrea day. It's an Andrea day. And that's what my husband tells a lot. He's like, who am I talking to? I'm like, Andrea. And he's like, oh, great. I'm here. That's funny. I got a text from one of my clients here. But so anyway, my comment is that I shop at a grocery store and the cashier, if you ask him, like, how You

02:50:00 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 3:

today and he's like this is a soul-sucking job and i'm like bro like drink some coffee do something like do some exercises or something oh no i think we need more honesty i think we

02:50:16 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 2:

need more people saying that this job sucks i'm not paid enough y'all be rude hey stephanie

02:50:22 - 02:50:28 | Speaker 4:

what's happening hey how are you i'm nothing i'm just picking up my girls for school okay

02:50:28 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 6:

And what's happening? We're talking about when the worker goes off. And Megan had somebody yesterday that this happened to.

02:50:43 - 02:51:10 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. It was insane. So one time my daughter and I were at the drive-thru at McDonald's. And the two, do you remember this? The two employees were fighting with each other out into the parking lot. And they were just, like, cussing at each other and fighting. And then one of them looked at us and said, you should not cuss cuss here. You need to go to cuss Burger King. They fought and went away.

02:51:11 - 02:51:14 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. I like how you said cuss cuss.

02:51:17 - 02:51:20 | Speaker 4:

My daughter and I looked at each other like, oh, my goodness.

02:51:20 - 02:51:29 | Speaker 6:

honestly if them in the parking lot that could actually draw so much attention they could raise money for charity just having a bunch of mcdonald's workers fighting each other

02:51:30 - 02:51:35 | Speaker 4:

yeah like we could see them like through the drive-thru and then they just like made their

02:51:35 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 6:

way out into the parking lot oh wow uh fred works at burlington guys okay yeah what's up fred hey what's going on mother this is fred from detroit what's happening burlington shout out

02:51:48 - 02:52:05 | Speaker 1:

to them and uh what happened there bud oh i work in the back so i really don't have to deal with the customers until a certain time but customers are so rude they will stand right in front of where you're stocking stuff and like you're not doing anything i'm like i'm just staying here i

02:52:05 - 02:52:28 | Speaker 6:

get paid about hours i always never know what to do when somebody's restocking i always kind of like back off and you guys are usually really nice uh you know i see this at a lot of the stores Burlington, obviously one of them, where they'll go, oh, here, you go ahead, and they'll find you, like, something nice. I actually love when I go to Kroger in the person's restocking, and they'll get you, like, the fresh one.

02:52:28 - 02:52:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:52:29 - 02:52:30 | Speaker 6:

And they'll do that. That happened to me yesterday.

02:52:30 - 02:52:35 | Speaker 2:

I always appreciate that. Yeah. Yesterday at Target, somebody did that. They're like, let me run in the back and get you a new one.

02:52:36 - 02:52:41 | Speaker 5:

It just came in. Yeah, Target would be winning. Do you have to wait if they restock it, or can you just pull it while they're doing their job?

02:52:41 - 02:52:50 | Speaker 6:

Well, I mean, I think in Fred's case, he just wants you just to be kind to them. people like barrel them over trying to uh to grab something obviously we know what store megan was

02:52:50 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 2:

at yesterday when that person no no i did lots of errands yesterday oh did you it's hard to leave downtown now that we work downtown i live down here like i tried to set a day aside to go run errands because it takes forever to get out of the city can i say something and this is my little

02:53:04 - 02:53:24 | Speaker 6:

megan moment here right now or mojo minute i don't know whatever the heck i don't want to you're copy written no now that we're downtown can people start either coming back to work downtown or stores just open nothing is open i don't honestly i don't think i'm ever moved i would ever move downtown because there's nothing ever open here that's not open on thursday friday

02:53:24 - 02:53:31 | Speaker 2:

and saturday not even that the thing and i know i said this the other day cvs closes at 6 p.m it

02:53:31 - 02:54:29 | Speaker 6:

drives me crazy oh yeah that's that's like dumb i mean you know what in the problem is though that half the people that are normally working downtown are working from home so that's why they don't do it so we got to get this back open man move it back open uh all right putting the suck in success i always wake up mojo in the morning mojo in the morning all right it is mojo in the morning show so we had everybody at our house for the holidays and it was actually fun i'm not gonna lie to you i'm normally the type of guy that i get emotional when my family's all together but after a few days i kind of wanted my space a little bit and i'm thinking man i've grown up a lot because in the past i couldn't wait for the kids to like just be home and just stay home and then after a while it got a little annoying on a couple of different parts one was uh the boys joe had his his girlfriend uh alissa there so she was there staying which we were like on engagement watch wondering if he was

02:54:29 - 02:54:35 | Speaker 2:

going to get engaged i was waiting for you post yeah i swear i i think chelsea said it best it

02:54:35 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 6:

would be bad if he goes and brings her to his own hometown and proposes to her when she's not from here she's from you know uh florida from tampa um but that would be like a total like self-serving thing to do but he didn't do it so long story short elissa was there um and then luke had his girlfriend that was there and Brooklyn and it got to be a point where

02:55:00 - 02:56:43 | Speaker 3:

i would forget that these guys were all amongst us and i know that you guys will hear you know from time to time me talk about how i have excessive gas problems i've got gas right now buddy i've gotten to a point right now in my life where when i push myself off the couch like literally like grab you know i'm i'm not having to like pull my put my arms down like i still can get it up from a core i do a little rock roll yes yeah exactly but when i do it i will i will rock a little bit and as i rock a little bit to come up oh it comes right out you're one step away from the fart walks i'm in the fart walk period here's me walking to the kitchen to go grab some uh you know something to eat and you're like yours are really stinky it's well it got to be so bad and the worst is the way that the couch setup was and i can you call us up i want to call us up and tell us how did your mom or dad embarrass you in front of your significant other because it got to be a point where i would just i started with the oops like you know what i mean like i did the oops then it got me going excuse me then i started picking myself up and cupping my butt because i was sitting as i was sitting on the couch the way that it would go joe would sit on the end alissa would sit in between joe and i and then luke would be on one side luke's girlfriend would be on the other side you know i mean like and then jacob would be occasionally down there but he was still hiding in his room like he always you know would and um i would get up and just be like just embarrassing as hell i felt so bad and i actually say anything to you or

02:56:43 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 5:

Or was it just expected?

02:56:45 - 02:57:08 | Speaker 3:

Alyssa, at some point, Joe's girlfriend Alyssa, started giggling at times. Like, it got to a point where I think that she thought that, okay, this is possibly going to be her father-in-law one day. And I said to Joe, I go, man, if we didn't run off one of your girlfriends in the past by some of the stuff that we said, we're going to run her off with our butt.

02:57:09 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 2:

I feel like there are worse things than farting, though. Really? Like, if farting is as bad as it's going to get by becoming a member of the Carballo family, then I think you're okay. I don't know.

02:57:21 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean?

02:57:22 - 02:57:24 | Speaker 2:

Like, it can get a lot worse than just some ass.

02:57:24 - 02:57:40 | Speaker 3:

Mine were full of honey-baked ham. Are you lactose intolerant? I'm gluten. So anytime I get anything in my system that's, you know, possibly cross-contaminated. Shannon, has Tim Murphy ever embarrassed you in front of Wes?

02:57:40 - 02:57:58 | Speaker 5:

All the time. Wes and him are really close, though, right? Yes, they are. Yeah, Wes did not have a good relationship with his dad. So my dad is like the dad that he always wanted, which I love when he says that. But my dad, dude, my dad's like you. My dad will let it go. And he will comment on how good or bad he does that.

02:57:59 - 02:58:00 | Speaker 3:

Right off the bat, he does that?

02:58:01 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 5:

He does not care. Are you kidding me? Wow, that's unbelievable.

02:58:05 - 02:58:09 | Speaker 3:

I love people at that level, though. What about Scott Mick? Does Scott Mick do this?

02:58:10 - 02:58:28 | Speaker 4:

Absolutely not. he is so embarrassed by my brother and i it's not even funny he thinks it's just he's very like proper i know that's wild because you guys know me and my brother and we're the farthest from it but we were raised in like a very proper household you don't which is why you shouldn't be proper

02:58:28 - 02:58:42 | Speaker 5:

with your kids because we just retaliate and become the worst adults possible which it's so funny that you say that because we weren't even allowed to say the word fart in my dad's house growing up at all it was it was like a bad word yet my dad was ripping them left and right all

02:58:42 - 02:58:59 | Speaker 4:

the time my brother would fart i would laugh my dad would get up off of the chair no even if we were watching law and order svu which was for him and we were sitting as a family he would get up and just and walk it's not funny it's not funny to do that act act appropriate wow uh god i i seriously

02:58:59 - 02:59:07 | Speaker 3:

i thought i had an ally and uh and scott what's going on liz hi hi how are you guys call me the

02:59:07 - 02:59:59 | Speaker 1:

farter-in-law what's going on so i was gonna say um so they make fun of my speech i still have it to this day um it's kind of like bad like i've always had bad speech problems growing up really i hear nothing but it okay yeah so yeah it's okay now i mean i'm trying to get better with it but it isn't pleasant i mean i mess up my words a lot and yeah so your parents would embarrass you in front of boyfriends that would come over yeah kind of so like i would say certain things and like yeah that's that is so wild that is yeah and it's not fine i mean it's not easy and like especially growing up in an environment like when you're in school and having like friends and then

03:00:00 - 03:00:30 | Speaker 2:

You know, it's funny because I was thinking about this because a lot of things bring you back to your childhood. I was remembering that my dad was the only thing he would do to embarrass us in front of significant others was my dad never wore a shirt. My dad, as soon as my because my dad wore suits to work all the time because he was a doctor. He would come home and he would put on a pair of shorts and walk around. He was that guy, the dad that would walk around shirtless. So I remember a couple of times Chelsea coming over and it's like my dad just sitting there shirtless at the end of the table.

03:00:30 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 6:

But you grew up in Chicago, so was that a year-round thing?

03:00:32 - 03:00:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, year-round. He would shovel the snow, believe it or not, with no shirt on. What's up, Jen? How you doing?

03:00:40 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 5:

I'm good. How are you?

03:00:41 - 03:00:46 | Speaker 2:

Fantastic, Jen. We're talking about how your parents embarrass you. I think I did this to my kids.

03:00:47 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 5:

Well, my dad is a very gassy person. And for as long as I can remember, regardless of whether it was significant others or just family functions, he just, like, rips part. And then he always follows up with, oh, well, that still works.

03:01:08 - 03:01:26 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Okay. There's something about once you get past, I think it's 40 for me. It was. I don't know. Maybe 50. But when you get past, like, a certain age, you lose control of your Kegel glands or Kugel. I don't know. I was going to say Kegels. I don't know.

03:01:26 - 03:01:30 | Speaker 7:

Kegel glands. I don't know. Whatever the name is. Pelvic zone.

03:01:32 - 03:01:33 | Speaker 2:

It doesn't feel like you hear it.

03:01:34 - 03:01:43 | Speaker 5:

You hear it so much, you don't even get embarrassed by it anymore. You're just like, you almost expect it. And to the girl. If they don't say it, you're like, does it still work? I don't know what's going on.

03:01:43 - 03:01:50 | Speaker 4:

To the girl who just called in to talk about her word choices and not being able to speak well, we're professional speakers. We're paid to do it.

03:01:51 - 03:01:52 | Speaker 2:

What's happening, Austin? Hi.

03:01:53 - 03:01:53 | Speaker 1:

Hey, guys.

03:01:54 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 2:

Good.

03:01:54 - 03:01:54 | Speaker 1:

How are you?

03:01:54 - 03:01:55 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

03:01:56 - 03:02:09 | Speaker 1:

So when I was a kid, my cousins would get grounded from my Uncle Mark. He absolutely hated farting, and he would get angry if they would fart in the same room as him. They were made to get up, leave the room, go do their business, and come back.

03:02:10 - 03:02:11 | Speaker 3:

Really? That was my grandma.

03:02:11 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 7:

I understand to not hear the sounds then, but the smell just follows you in.

03:02:15 - 03:02:28 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. My grandma used to, like, tell us to wait five seconds. I used to go outside and, like, count. Yeah. Really? Yeah, my grandma, she was not for that. Your grandma, the grandma that I know. Hey, Grandma Ruth, she was not for that first thing. Grandma Ma.

03:02:28 - 03:02:33 | Speaker 2:

Grandma Ma out there, yeah. You're never going to want her around me. She done. What's up, Sydney? Hi.

03:02:34 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 6:

Hey, how's it going, guys? Good morning. Good morning.

03:02:37 - 03:02:37 | Speaker 2:

What's happening?

03:02:37 - 03:03:06 | Speaker 6:

so uh my fiance and i've been together for five and a half years and the first time that i met uh my future mother-in-law i went back in the house after we had just left because i forgot something and she didn't know i was coming back in she was standing at the uh sink and she let out the loudest loudest fart i had ever heard what did you do i just i walked in i couldn't How about laugh? I mean, I think farting is hilarious. So I just started dying laughing.

03:03:06 - 03:03:07 | Speaker 2:

She was holding it.

03:03:07 - 03:03:10 | Speaker 5:

And now we're just, what was that?

03:03:10 - 03:03:16 | Speaker 2:

She was holding it in until you left the house. You thought you were gone. So now you guys are the farter family?

03:03:17 - 03:03:20 | Speaker 6:

Exactly. That's what we are now. Now we have no care in the world about it.

03:03:21 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 7:

And you guys, why is everyone's natural reaction if you're around people that you're not exactly comfortable with to go, whoop?

03:03:26 - 03:03:27 | Unknown:

Yeah, right.

03:03:30 - 03:03:31 | Speaker 2:

Kim, what's up? Hi.

03:03:31 - 03:03:35 | Speaker 4:

Hey, I love you guys. How are you doing? We love you.

03:03:36 - 03:03:37 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Hold on. Yeah.

03:03:38 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 4:

I just wanted to tell you that my dad thought it was hilarious to fart and he didn't care. Wherever he was, he lifted his leg. We would tell you and he'd be like, what? It's the loved ones that don't smell. You're lucky I didn't do a fire one.

03:03:53 - 03:04:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. Not true. You know how they say like a fart in church? I remember literally one time doing that in church, and it was the echoey sounds.

03:04:04 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 4:

All the stained glass windows.

03:04:06 - 03:04:17 | Speaker 2:

And it was Chelsea in her parents' church that we went to, and it was one of those ones where they had, like, the floor, like, literally everything reverberated right off the damn thing.

03:04:19 - 03:04:25 | Speaker 1:

When you argue with idiots, people can't tell who the idiot is. We fail to understand that on this show.

03:04:25 - 03:04:26 | Speaker 7:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

03:04:26 - 03:04:52 | Speaker 2:

It is Mojo in the Morning. Kevin is one that has always been so humble. Matter of fact, whenever I have heard the song Humble, I felt like that song was written for one Kevin Irwin, otherwise known as Kev or Kev Knows if you follow him on social media. Kevin, what's the next topic that we're going to be talking about?

03:04:52 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Listen, I don't know why it was tasked or titled, rather, as this, but I'll give you the situation. How about that?

03:05:00 - 03:05:33 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I go out to a nice little bar, and the only reason I went there is because I knew the DJ, and he sent me a flyer like, hey, bro, I'm spinning here tonight. I was going to go home. I said, nah, let me go here. So I go. He had the DJ booth doing his thing. I pull up to him. I'm like, what's good, man? I didn't even notice the girl that was next to him, so he was like, hey, you know, da-da-da-da-da. and when i've seen her i'm like yeah because we used to smash like we used to you know smash so

03:05:33 - 03:05:42 | Speaker 3:

you're thinking of another word like what is the other word a little bit of that so immediately

03:05:42 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 4:

when i see i'm like oh what's good and it was love it wasn't like an awkward moment it wasn't a weird interaction we greeted each other we hugged each other he's like where y'all know each other from i'm like oh yeah and we both said at the same time like we used to work together you know because that's what needed to be said did you also work together oh you didn't lie so wasn't

03:06:00 - 03:06:04 | Speaker 3:

it you're that's not a euphemism for what you exactly is this the parking lot girl

03:06:04 - 03:06:09 | Speaker 2:

never mind i don't think so okay you told the story about that yeah you told the story about

03:06:09 - 03:06:16 | Speaker 3:

the girl that you uh yes in the parking lot at uh yes everybody's favorite home loan company

03:06:16 - 03:06:58 | Speaker 4:

no no no no no okay you looked at me like why did you say that i'm like you've talked about no no you're good you're good you're good this is a different girl but same situations too though but this is not the person i was talking about um but ironically enough i guess she was buying she was bartending at this particular place so me she's like hey what can i she want to drink i'm like yeah let me get a henny and coke long story short end of the night i had about three four henny and cokes i come up to her at the end i'm like man so good to see you how much i owe you she's like it's free really i swear whoa so in my mind i'm like well there's only one reason it can be free it's either because of our smash sessions or my lovely personality so in my mind i'm like what did you get for free i know you don't probably got something for free wait a

03:06:58 - 03:07:14 | Speaker 2:

second okay so because you were good in bed is that like the it can only be one or two things it can either be that look i'm saying is that the question you're asking people to call in i think that's a better question yeah that's a good one free because you were so good in bed

03:07:14 - 03:07:24 | Speaker 3:

But that's also Kev's claim is he was getting free Henny and Cokes because he was good in bed.

03:07:24 - 03:07:29 | Speaker 4:

I'm not saying that. She enjoys something about me. I don't know what it was, but it was whatever it was.

03:07:29 - 03:07:31 | Speaker 3:

How much conversation did you have with her?

03:07:31 - 03:07:36 | Speaker 4:

That's it. That was it. From the moment I recognized who she was. So then it has to be. Or it was my glowing personality.

03:07:36 - 03:07:42 | Speaker 3:

Then it has to be. Then that's what it must be. You must be amazing in bed.

03:07:42 - 03:07:43 | Speaker 4:

I'm not out here talking like that.

03:07:43 - 03:07:54 | Speaker 3:

I would love to know what this girl's motive was. Or maybe this girl gives a lot of free drinks. Who knows? Did anybody else? Did your friend get a free drink?

03:07:54 - 03:07:57 | Speaker 4:

Typically, the DJ always gets a free drink, but I'm not sure.

03:07:57 - 03:08:38 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. So we don't know if the DJ was also giving it to her or no? That's none of my business. Okay. So what did you get for free because you gave some good loving? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. And that is the reason why this particular topic has been appropriately titled, I don't know if it's by Kevin or somebody else, how good was your sex? And Kevin's was so very good. Hi, Stevie, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. I'd like to introduce you to everybody here. Shannon, Megan, Mojo. Morning. And the best love-making guy in the world, Kevin over here.

03:08:40 - 03:08:45 | Speaker 1:

Buckle up, please. Kev, you're the truth. I love your story, man. What's up, man? Oh, yeah, daddy.

03:08:45 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

03:08:46 - 03:09:23 | Speaker 1:

I think I can relate. Me and my new fiance, we went out about a couple weeks ago, and we went out downtown into Eastern Market area, went to a bar, and the bartender used to be a girl. I never, like, officially dated, but we used to hook up all the time. And they were pretty busy all night, so she would just tell me I'm good whenever she'd give me a drink. Never charge us once the whole night. Each guy had, like, maybe two or three rounds of drinks. so i think i can relate to that i don't know if it's because the smash sessions in the day or because the charming personality that i still carry or what but so you got free stuff also

03:09:23 - 03:09:49 | Speaker 3:

because it was somebody that you had one time had a relationship with yeah yeah in the second is it the same girl maybe maybe this girl's bad for business at that bar she's got a lot of guys that are out there uh what's up emily hi it's mojo in the morning good morning guys how y'all doing fantastic we're we're asking the question what did you get because you're good in bed

03:09:49 - 03:09:55 | Speaker 1:

well i'm gonna have to go with option b on this one it wasn't the good in bed because it was from

03:09:55 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 4:

total strangers but 100 the charm through and through um i was down in

03:10:00 - 03:10:28 | Speaker 3:

03:10:28 - 03:10:35 | Speaker 5:

like don't worry about it we got you wow that pretty girl privilege it pays to be a girl and

03:10:35 - 03:10:56 | Speaker 3:

it pays to be a girl that's pretty man and i didn't have my boobs out wait you didn't even have to show off anything you probably all bundled up because it was cold i don't have to put on makeup to get that privilege you know what i mean face card never decline uh what's up stevie how

03:10:56 - 03:11:09 | Speaker 5:

How you doing, buddy? Doing good, doing good. What's going on, bud? Is it the same Stevie I just talked to? Yeah, same Stevie. Oh, why are you still on the phone line here? I thought I hung up on you.

03:11:09 - 03:11:11 | Speaker 2:

That's like they kept me on to give me Lions tickets. That's what I thought.

03:11:11 - 03:11:30 | Speaker 5:

No, no, wait. Wait, have you had sex with anybody here that we work with? I want to make sure that it's a no to that. Not yet. Desiree, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi. hi how are you good what did you get because of you gave some good loving

03:11:30 - 03:11:39 | Speaker 4:

well i didn't personally ever hook up with this person but i got a free oil change because

03:11:39 - 03:11:57 | Speaker 5:

the guy wanted my number oh he wanted your oil where was this at was this at uh one of those like chain places no at a dealership oh so you went in to go get an oil change and the guy was flirting so much with you that when you went to go pay, he just said, no, you don't have to.

03:11:59 - 03:12:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, I got a car at a dealership and the first two were like free. Um, and I had said to him, and this was my third one, but they hadn't, they didn't tell me that they said for the first year, your oil changes are free. I went in for my third one and the deal was only two. and when I went in he was like oh no like I don't know it was like 120 bucks or something like that and then he came back he was like don't worry about it

03:12:31 - 03:12:35 | Speaker 6:

I got it. You hear her voice though? Yeah she sounds hot. And you know when she put it on?

03:12:36 - 03:12:43 | Speaker 2:

Did you also pretend when they show you the stick and ask you for your approval that you knew what you were talking about and nodded?

03:12:46 - 03:12:48 | Speaker 6:

I'm always like yeah it looks great.

03:12:48 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 5:

When a guy shows you his stick, never, ever insult his stick. By the way, Desiree, was it a Ford and did you buy it in Holly, Michigan?

03:13:02 - 03:13:02 | Speaker 4:

No.

03:13:02 - 03:13:07 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I was wondering. Marcos, what's happening?

03:13:08 - 03:13:11 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up, guys? First time long time. Hey!

03:13:14 - 03:13:15 | Speaker 5:

What's going on, buddy?

03:13:15 - 03:13:31 | Speaker 1:

No, so I just heard this topic, and I was laughing because I didn't get nothing for free, but this girl I used to hook up with, not every time, but she would randomly send me text messages afterwards and an Apple Pay for, like, 20 bucks, 25 bucks.

03:13:32 - 03:13:39 | Speaker 5:

After you guys would have sacks, baked cookies, she would send you Apple Pays?

03:13:40 - 03:13:52 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. So she would, like, give a little detail on what she liked. Yeah. And she would be like, oh, go buy, like, a Starbucks or something. Not every time, but, yeah. So I was just, well, not really free, but I got money out of it.

03:13:52 - 03:14:04 | Speaker 5:

Love it. That, by the way, is unbelievable that you would get that. You must be good. What does your stick look like? No, I'm just kidding. What's up, mate? Avery, what's going on?

03:14:06 - 03:14:26 | Speaker 2:

It's doing good. Um, so this one time I was, I was hooking up with these, um, two girls, you know, uh, at the same time. Oh, bragger. And then the next morning, they both brought me, uh, breakfast to my job.

03:14:27 - 03:14:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, wait. They brought him breakfast, I think he said. He sounds like he has breakfast in his mouth still. um did wait did you question did you guys did they come together to bring you breakfast or

03:14:39 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 2:

each brought you separate breakfast uh they both brought it together that's like the best

03:14:46 - 03:14:53 | Speaker 5:

threesome you could ever get you got sex from two women and they fed you yeah it was one of the

03:14:53 - 03:15:09 | Speaker 2:

greatest 24 hours of my life well honestly what what was better The sacks or the breakfast? The breakfast. Okay. Who brought the better breakfast? It's honest right there. Thank you for the call, man. I appreciate you, Avery.

03:15:09 - 03:15:12 | Speaker 4:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

03:15:12 - 03:15:23 | Speaker 2:

Not getting a call back after you've gone out and you want to know why. We're going to find out this morning. This morning's second date update here on the show. What is her name, Lydia?

03:15:24 - 03:15:25 | Unknown:

Anaya.

03:15:25 - 03:15:32 | Speaker 2:

Anaya. Anaya. How are you? Nice. How are you? First time, long time on the show with us?

03:15:33 - 03:15:36 | Speaker 4:

Hey, give it up, man. Anaya's on the phone.

03:15:36 - 03:15:39 | Speaker 2:

So, Anaya, how did you guys meet?

03:15:40 - 03:15:46 | Speaker 4:

So, we met at the gym, which is kind of weird, but yeah, we met at the gym. Is that weird? Yeah.

03:15:47 - 03:15:53 | Speaker 2:

A lot of people meet at the gym. No, that's good. And so, you guys, tell us a little bit about it. What did you guys do?

03:15:55 - 03:16:05 | Speaker 4:

Like, obviously, like, well, he didn't even come up to me. He found my Instagram and he DM'd me. And so we decided to, you know, like get food after the gym one day.

03:16:05 - 03:16:16 | Speaker 2:

So that's kind of how it started. Here's a question for you guys. Do you think that that feels a little invasive if you meet somebody out in public and they go and they DM you from saying, hey, I saw you at the gym?

03:16:17 - 03:16:28 | Speaker 1:

Yes. You don't like that? It depends. Talk to me first and then DM me. Yeah. It depends. Tell them, Sammy. If you're cute, you get away with that. I will welcome that DM. Not anymore. but

03:16:28 - 03:16:33 | Speaker 2:

all right so you got food after you went to the gym is that it

03:16:33 - 03:17:03 | Speaker 4:

well he kind of came over the same day and we well that night after we had food and worked out and stuff and we hooked up and you know like i was nervous to hook up with him because i was like i hope he doesn't ghost me but i knew he wasn't gonna ghost me but he ended up ghosting me and And so I don't know. Like, he doesn't even talk to me anymore when we're at the gym at the same time. He doesn't look at me. He just has his headphones in. He's always walking, but he never talks to me.

03:17:03 - 03:17:10 | Speaker 2:

He took you out to go get food. You guys went back and hooked up with each other. And now the guy's going into the gym and he's not even looking at you or talking to you?

03:17:10 - 03:17:17 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. And he didn't even, he found my Instagram. Like, I should have thought that was creepy, but I thought it was like, I don't know.

03:17:18 - 03:17:30 | Speaker 2:

You can't do that. You can't hook up with somebody and then just not talk to them, especially if you're in the same place. Parth is his name. He's on the phone with us right now. Parth? Hello? Hey, say hello to Anaya.

03:17:33 - 03:17:35 | Speaker 3:

Hi, I guess.

03:17:35 - 03:17:39 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Parth. Hey, Parth, what's happening?

03:17:42 - 03:17:49 | Speaker 3:

I have a girlfriend now. Wait, so...

03:17:49 - 03:17:51 | Speaker 2:

Wait, how... When was the...

03:17:51 - 03:17:54 | Speaker 3:

Jesus Christ. You get out and say it.

03:17:54 - 03:17:58 | Speaker 2:

Anaya, when was it that you guys hooked up? How long ago was it?

03:17:58 - 03:18:05 | Speaker 4:

Are you kidding me? Wait, when did this happen? It was two weeks. How long ago? It was two weeks. It was two weeks. So you got a girlfriend in two weeks.

03:18:06 - 03:18:09 | Speaker 1:

So you had a girlfriend at the time you hooked up with Anaya?

03:18:11 - 03:18:21 | Speaker 2:

You had a girlfriend. No. Come on. So you did not have a girlfriend when you guys got together at the gym?

03:18:23 - 03:18:26 | Speaker 3:

No, but I mean, it's two weeks, obviously.

03:18:26 - 03:18:28 | Speaker 1:

Can we? Can you hit a drop for me?

03:18:29 - 03:18:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

03:18:30 - 03:18:40 | Speaker 1:

Wait a second. So you're telling me, Parz, that in two weeks you met a girl and it has gotten serious enough that you are boyfriend-girlfriend. You already have titles and you're exclusive.

03:18:42 - 03:18:45 | Speaker 3:

I was talking to her before, but you know. Okay.

03:18:46 - 03:18:47 | Speaker 4:

Are you serious?

03:18:47 - 03:19:14 | Speaker 2:

so why am i involved why would you not say something at least to her like why would you not after the fact when you're at the gym and you see her not ignore her like you were doing why do i have to explain myself because you had sex with this woman and you guys have been out with each other it's called common decency at least say hi to her for christ's sake she involved herself

03:19:14 - 03:19:17 | Speaker 1:

nope it takes two

03:19:17 - 03:19:20 | Speaker 2:

how did she involve herself you're the guy DMing her

03:19:20 - 03:19:25 | Speaker 3:

yeah but it's not we hooked up once it's not that deep

03:19:25 - 03:19:35 | Speaker 4:

which is fair but can you communicate that instead of just ignoring not

03:19:35 - 03:19:38 | Speaker 3:

going after her not talking that is communicating

03:19:38 - 03:19:54 | Speaker 1:

that's literally the opposite And you don't need to give details. You didn't even need to say you're in a relationship now. You just, I think, owed it to her to say, hey, I'm not really interested in taking this any further or however you wanted to say it. You know?

03:19:56 - 03:19:59 | Speaker 3:

That's such an old-school way of saying it. No, that's just a point.

03:20:00 - 03:20:01 | Speaker 2:

It's a polite, respectful way of doing it.

03:20:02 - 03:20:02 | Speaker 8:

Come on, Park.

03:20:03 - 03:20:19 | Speaker 9:

Anaya, you see him in the gym. He doesn't even look at you. And you sit there and say to yourself, what's going on? You had to almost at least in your head think, he probably has a girlfriend. I don't buy any of this, that he just got her in the last two weeks.

03:20:20 - 03:20:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I never thought that was the case. I thought I did something wrong, or I don't know. But a girlfriend is crazy. Like, I didn't DM myself.

03:20:29 - 03:20:39 | Speaker 9:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to know what your thoughts are on this one. I mean, Parth, at least, Ozer. I mean, don't we believe that? Or maybe somebody else, you know, doesn't agree with that.

03:20:40 - 03:21:03 | Speaker 8:

No, I think that, well, I'm not defending the fact that he didn't say anything to her. I think that is kind of strange and weird. But he said that his girlfriend, air quotes, didn't come out of the blue. It was somebody he's already been talking to, somebody he's already been dealing with. And then they just decided to make it official. I wonder if she knows he was still single when he smashed Anaya

03:21:03 - 03:21:09 | Speaker 9:

in part does she have any idea does she know at all anything about Anaya

03:21:09 - 03:21:12 | Speaker 4:

she doesn't need to

03:21:12 - 03:21:14 | Speaker 9:

yes she does

03:21:14 - 03:21:17 | Speaker 4:

because you're getting into

03:21:17 - 03:21:23 | Speaker 9:

a situation where you were not honest to her that you were out talking to other girls they weren't exclusive though

03:21:23 - 03:21:26 | Speaker 6:

which is fine but tell her I've moved on with somebody else

03:21:26 - 03:21:29 | Speaker 9:

Brandy, you wanted to comment on this? What are your thoughts?

03:21:30 - 03:21:41 | Speaker 7:

Immediately. As soon as she said that they were at the gym, they left the gym, they got food, they went home and hooked up. I ain't gonna lie. You should have expected 50-50. No.

03:21:42 - 03:21:48 | Speaker 6:

I'm calling you back, baby. No. I'm sorry, sweetheart. It happens like that. That's just how guys be.

03:21:49 - 03:21:53 | Speaker 9:

But guys shouldn't be that way. Guys should be. Even if they don't want anything more.

03:21:54 - 03:21:58 | Speaker 3:

I'm not interested. I had fun. I'm not looking at this shit.

03:21:58 - 03:22:00 | Speaker 8:

So did they talk a lot before he DM'd her?

03:22:01 - 03:22:02 | Speaker 9:

He hung up the phone, by the way.

03:22:02 - 03:22:02 | Unknown:

What?

03:22:03 - 03:22:03 | Speaker 9:

Parth hung up the phone.

03:22:03 - 03:22:06 | Speaker 8:

Anaya, did y'all talk a lot before he DM'd you?

03:22:07 - 03:22:16 | Speaker 4:

No, we didn't talk that much. He literally found me. Like, we would talk at the gym, and, like, he was cool a little bit, but, like, he found my Instagram. He didn't ask me.

03:22:17 - 03:22:17 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:22:18 - 03:22:20 | Speaker 9:

He hung up the phone. He did some work.

03:22:20 - 03:22:21 | Speaker 4:

Like, he sought you out.

03:22:21 - 03:22:25 | Speaker 8:

Yes. She probably posted pictures, location on there. Well, how does he even care?

03:22:25 - 03:22:27 | Speaker 4:

He still had to take steps to do that.

03:22:27 - 03:22:28 | Speaker 8:

You take steps when you want to smash.

03:22:28 - 03:22:37 | Speaker 9:

Real quick, stop that. Call his ass. And this guy obviously is worried that that girl that he's now in a relationship with is going to hear this. Because he hung up the phone.

03:22:38 - 03:22:41 | Speaker 1:

I just love that you just told me. Stop that. Stop that.

03:22:42 - 03:22:46 | Speaker 9:

No, I want to bust his ass. I want to bust him. Fred, what's up?

03:22:48 - 03:23:14 | Speaker 1:

That was a top of the line USDA. A-ho. Woo! Like, no, for real. You don't, like, you went all the way to the point to go find her Instagram. You DM her. Now you don't want to say nothing to her in the gym? Like, bro, I want to say so much stuff, but I can't.

03:23:14 - 03:23:16 | Speaker 9:

Thank you. Thank you.

03:23:16 - 03:23:22 | Speaker 1:

I'm just going to leave it at that. He's a top of the line A-ho, USDA. I appreciate it.

03:23:23 - 03:23:26 | Speaker 9:

Shay, what's up? it's a second date update. What's going on?

03:23:27 - 03:23:28 | Speaker 3:

Hey, how are you guys doing this morning?

03:23:28 - 03:23:32 | Speaker 9:

Good. What'd you want to say about Parth and what he did to Anaya?

03:23:33 - 03:23:36 | Speaker 3:

Two things. First of all, he's a total douche canoe. Okay.

03:23:37 - 03:23:39 | Speaker 2:

I have never heard that, but I love it.

03:23:40 - 03:24:02 | Speaker 3:

I hear him saying to his girl right now, we were on a break! 100%. And this is why I run that group on Facebook. Are we dating? No, you're not. Oh, she's admitting it to us. An icon. We now know who it is. You're the deuce canoe. No, this is... An icon, icon. That is why.

03:24:03 - 03:24:08 | Speaker 9:

Wow, yeah. Hold on. We want to talk more. Keely, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

03:24:09 - 03:24:16 | Speaker 5:

Hey, I'm kind of in with everybody else. He's a jerk and he's a punk. And the better part of this is, hey, Anaya, you got to suck it up, buttercup.

03:24:17 - 03:24:26 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, move on. It's time to move on. Make it really uncomfortable for him. Make it really uncomfortable while you're at the gym when he walks in there, right? Working on glutes.

03:24:26 - 03:24:30 | Speaker 5:

As a matter of fact, she should go up and stand in front of him and be like, oh, hello, and keep on walking.

03:24:31 - 03:24:34 | Speaker 9:

I like you. Thank you for calling, Keeley. What's going on, Amanda?

03:24:36 - 03:24:37 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning, everyone.

03:24:37 - 03:24:38 | Speaker 9:

Good morning. What's happening?

03:24:39 - 03:24:48 | Speaker 6:

No disrespect, Anaya. You sound lovely. I'm a black, dot, dot, dot. But how did you go out with this guy in the first place? He sounds like such an angel.

03:24:48 - 03:24:48 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

03:24:48 - 03:24:49 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

03:24:49 - 03:24:51 | Speaker 9:

What was it about him that you liked? Aniyah?

03:24:52 - 03:25:00 | Speaker 4:

He was cute. He was cute, you know, and I just wanted to say he was tall. Yeah, see, she won this match.

03:25:00 - 03:25:06 | Speaker 7:

but there's nothing wrong with that he hid all this from her and that's probably why uh jamie

03:25:06 - 03:25:21 | Speaker 3:

what's up yeah i just wanted to say that um i actually don't agree um i don't think he really owes her an explanation because that you know women do it all the time they treat men like rebounds every now and then you know if they have a bad breakup or something they sleep with a guy

03:25:21 - 03:25:35 | Speaker 7:

and then they don't call them they don't yeah but we don't we don't drop down to that level though You can't just say just because. And I'm not saying women do that. I'm saying there are people that are both men and women that do that. But you don't drop down to that level. Just be calm and decency.

03:25:35 - 03:25:44 | Speaker 4:

It's not about an explanation. You don't have to give the details. And that's what I said at the beginning. But just a simple not interested in this and you anymore. Whatever. Just to close the door.

03:25:45 - 03:25:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but again, like I said, you know, females, they will literally not text or call even ghost men all the time. But we say that's douchebag behavior as well.

03:25:54 - 03:25:55 | Speaker 4:

So don't do that.

03:25:55 - 03:26:24 | Speaker 7:

By the way, you should see how many times Lydia has tried to call him and he keeps bumping the calls. He's not trying to talk to us. We have got to make this more interesting for Parth. If there's anybody that's dating Parth, just so you know, this is all going to be podcast. You can go check it out on the iHeartRadio app. Anaya, we love you, Anaya. Love you. All right. It's us. We're all vote Anaya. Or, I don't know. Anaya for president.

03:26:24 - 03:26:27 | Speaker 6:

Aniyah. Go Aniyah. Team Aniyah.

03:26:27 - 03:26:27 | Speaker 7:

I'm not going for her.

03:26:28 - 03:26:34 | Speaker 6:

Come on. 20-plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.

03:26:35 - 03:27:05 | Speaker 9:
