00:03:25 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 6:

good morning and welcome to the mojo in the morning show good to have you guys here with us today the five lies tell your mom is going to be an interesting one this morning a daughter calls her mom up to say mom you know that guy that my husband is not comfortable with you know that one guy i think most couples have one guy and you're not comfortable with him here uh thinking that maybe uh he's got a little thing for your wife well this morning a daughter tells her mom that she's actually having an affair with him. And the weird part about this five lies is she did this, mom's reaction was priceless, and then mom hung up the phone on us, and we couldn't get mom back on the phone for, I think it has been two weeks. This morning on the show, mom actually finally learns that it was a five lies. Crazy. Is that nuts? Like, wouldn't you immediately, after you did the five lies, call mom up and go mom i was just kidding i was a radio station doing a stupid radio prank especially

00:04:47 - 00:04:52 | Speaker 7:

if it was something like that was the lie that can really affect your life she's dragging this out

00:04:52 - 00:04:58 | Speaker 6:

the craziest of the whole situation is that the daughter thinks it's funny

00:05:00 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

It's nuts. All right. And the other funny part of the whole thing, and you'll hear it all coming up in 40 minutes, 45 minutes. The other funny part is the husband had no idea what was going on. So mom was acting weird around him. It's a great one. So you got to listen coming up just after 7 o'clock. It's Mojo in the morning show. You know, there's nothing worse than getting emotional and having other people around at the time that you start crying. Well, Megan had a moment happen to her. Megan, you cried in public.

00:05:33 - 00:07:40 | Speaker 2:

I don't even know if cry is the right word or like horrifically sob is a better description of what was going on last night. But I went into this fully prepared to cry and not prepared to cry as much as I did. I saw Parade the Musical at the Fisher last night, which, by the way, is based on a true story. And I, spoiler alert, it happened in the 1800s, knew the ending. And I guess it was the 1900s. But anyway, that doesn't matter. But I ended the show. The show ends on this, like, horrific, terrible moment, right? Like, there's no peace afterwards. It's meant to end as a massive tragedy. And so when it ends, they don't, like, have a song at the end or anything. The actors just come out and silently bow and then leave the stage. So it's, like, depressing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'm standing in the audience just bawling. Like, so hard. Yes. My makeup looked so good yesterday and just rivers down the Cakedown foundation. And I go to the bathroom. And in the bathroom, I'm, like, trying to blow my nose. Like, that's how heavy I am crying. Blow my nose. I clear everything out. Try to get into my Uber, which is waiting outside. and this very very nice listener of ours uh her name is stacy shout out to stacy she's a queen hey stacy shout out to stacy comes up to me doesn't say oh hello or uh you know how did you like the musical it was today's war of the roses was crazy right no way that i just looked at her like that is an awful transition into this conversation but stacy you know what i think i need this moment. And she just dove into, do you think they ran into each other later in their work day? Because the War of the Roses yesterday, they worked together at a factory. But she was like, which factory do you think it was? And do you think they ran into it? Do you think he looked for her? Did she notice that you were crying? Yes! She did not care. She was on a mission to get more information about yesterday's War of the Roses.

00:07:40 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

Do you think that maybe, first off, this is an interesting one. She was at the same show as you, so was she emotional

00:07:46 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

at all or no? Oh, let me tell you. I go to a lot of musicals. I love them. Usually when people leave, it's like loud in the theater and people are like, oh, did you like it? What did you see? It was so quiet inside of the Fisher that you could hear like toilets flushing and the sinks turning off. Like it was so quiet. It was so quiet. And so everybody's like, okay, well, I'll see you at work tomorrow. And she was like, so tell me more about this War of the Roses. Are we going to get an update?

00:08:15 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 1:

by the way that that seems like an awkward ending to a uh a musical you're right they usually will have a song and dance and everybody goes ah and then the lights go on and boom you get out of there but the fact that they ended on such a sad note and then leave people having to walk out i wouldn't have gotten into the uber because i'd be afraid the uber driver would think that i was

00:08:36 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 2:

nuts or or just got broken up on or something oh i had to clarify so the musical parade is about the trial of leo frank and um i feel dumb i don't know who that is is that anne frank's brother no leo frank is it's about the the lynching of a jewish man in the 1910s ish okay um and he lived in atlanta and had a pencil factory that a 13 year old girl was murdered in and um the musical is about his trial i mean he goes to jail very early in the musical and it ends um do you want me to tell you how it ends i mean it's a historical event i've got to be quite honest with you there

00:09:19 - 00:09:25 | Speaker 1:

will be no spoiler alert because the fact that i will never go see this go ahead uh so it ends with

00:09:25 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 2:

the governor trying to pardon him and uh the townspeople break into the jail where he's being held at and uh take him out to the woods and lynch him oh geez lord that's heavy i think about that and compare it to the end of, like, Mamma Mia, where there's confetti and everybody's dancing in the aisle.

00:09:45 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 1:

Or Wicked, yes. Oh, my gosh. I need song and dance. I know. Please give me some song and dance. But go back to your crying for a situation. So when you're crying in public, and this has happened to me before, like I've had emotional moments happen. to me like where you're you're out crying like movies are probably a big one at movie theaters imagine theater walking out after a sad movie and you're walking out and you look like you know literally you just got punched in the face because your face is all swollen and well it's yeah it's

00:10:17 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 4:

funny that you say you know wicked is so happy because when i saw wicked in theaters which i saw it in theaters two or three times i cried every single time i walked out of the theater

00:10:25 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 1:

balling every time well yeah you know what how did i forget how uh the movie ended uh on because

00:10:32 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 5:

i've seen the whole play it ended like oh yeah like that one one more time on court please

00:10:40 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 1:

that'll make you cry are you here yeah uh oh and she fly kind of flies or she's gone or whatever okay well um all right but that that is uh that is one of those ones i wonder how many times uber drivers have had a person get into their car crying and when do you ask them like do we have any uber drivers that are checking us out this morning or has anybody ever had that happen where you encounter somebody crying in public and like you go up and ask them is everything okay so i get

00:11:08 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 4:

into the uber with my brother and had to clarify to the driver that a he was my brother and b like nothing happened we just saw something really sad we're not fighting we're good he's okay you don't

00:11:21 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 1:

have to take sides i wonder if uber drivers take sides you know what i mean like they they see the because i always any woman crying that is it for me like i've had situations where if you're a woman crying salesperson you're upset that i won't do your endorsement for your client i will do the endorsement for the client that's good that will get me right away i cannot deal with women crying when women cry i am like a puddle myself i start crying too does it make

00:11:49 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 5:

you uncomfortable or you just feel that same emotion i i guess i feel their emotion i guess

00:11:55 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 1:

i guess my estrogen comes out is that that might be i i think it's because i had three sisters but also you know my mom and stuff like you know passing early but i i get emotional with them and i don't even know why i'm emotional it's crazy like if i megan i saw you cry i've seen megan cry a couple of times, and I'm going to say this to you. When Megan has cried, it makes me cry. Because she doesn't cry, you know,

00:12:21 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:

in front of me very often. I was going to say, I feel like I've known you for eight years and I can think of once? Oh, it's been a couple. Was it twice?

00:12:27 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 1:

It's been a couple. Okay. But it will get emotional. And usually, usually when it happens, well, not usually. I think one time there was alcohol and he was crying.

00:12:36 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. That's always. That's me. I feel like that doesn't count, though. Drunk crying doesn't count.

00:12:43 - 00:12:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true. But drunk crying sometimes is the most fun crying, because especially the words that come out afterwards.

00:12:48 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 4:

Shannon loves it when I'm drunk, because that's the only time I'm nice.

00:12:51 - 00:12:52 | Speaker 1:

This is very, very true.

00:12:52 - 00:12:58 | Speaker 5:

And I think you're just so inspirational, and I don't tell you that enough. Accurate portrayal right there.

00:12:58 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 1:

Hey, Shanita, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

00:13:02 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 3:

I am well, Mojo. How are you?

00:13:05 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic.

00:13:06 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 3:

But anyway, of course you ask, is there anything wrong? You got to ask them. You've got to make sure they're safe. You've got to ask questions. Can't you make people cry in your car? That's not cool.

00:13:19 - 00:13:27 | Speaker 1:

Shanita, I ask questions even when somebody's not crying, but you're right. I want a deep dive. I want to know what's going on. I want an Oprah moment here, you know?

00:13:27 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, I don't know. I think for me, being on this platform, and I drive a lot of women, if a woman gets in here and she's crying, I'm obviously going to do a little due diligence because what? You sit behind me crying. That's not cool.

00:13:41 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 4:

But are you going to believe me when I say I just watched a really sad musical?

00:13:46 - 00:13:47 | Speaker 3:

Hell no. Yeah.

00:13:49 - 00:13:55 | Speaker 1:

Shanita, do you get an extra tip for your counsel? Do they usually give you a good five-star or something?

00:13:56 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 3:

I mean, I get five stars mostly. But, I mean, tips are great. But everybody does a small job.

00:14:04 - 00:14:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. All right. Well, listen, Shanita, I'm going to get in your car. I'm going to cry. You ever see a grown man cry?

00:14:10 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes. It's kind of sad. Kind of. It makes you want to cry.

00:14:17 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 1:

It does to you what women crying does to me. Thanks for the call.

00:14:24 - 00:14:25 | Speaker 3:

We love you.

00:14:26 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 1:

Hope we get in your Uber someday. Let's go to Amanda. Hello, Amanda. How you doing?

00:14:33 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi, man. I'm done. It's okay. It's early. It is early. Okay, Mundo, I got to call you out. I think you're giving the women that are crying anything they want, because I recall you saying that crying women turn you on.

00:14:47 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 1:

It does.

00:14:48 - 00:14:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you have a good memory.

00:14:49 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Kind of. Yeah, there is some kind of a turn on to it. I don't know. That's what you're into? Well, I don't know, because you know what I feel like? Honestly, the only time I ever...

00:15:00 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 3:

had girls that would have zero interest in me be interested is when I showed them compassion and I think because I was the sensitive guy that would show them compassion so that was the only time I think the first maybe a few times that I uh you know had sex when I was like a a post teen that was the moments I get that is it bad would you cry after sex uh no I've I've only gotten emotional having sex maybe once or twice and it was like oh my god and actually I'll be quite honest with you for some reason lately I get emotional I have no idea what it is I'm like I'm at a point now I've been telling Chelsea how much I love her so much that she literally looked at me and said now I'm starting not to I don't know you're more grateful for the opportunity I don't know what it is like I I'm getting at a point right now where I'm telling like I guess i'm appreciative of like every day to me seems like a blessing so you know i kind of get uh get like that so i don't know kevin have you ever cried having sex no i thank god though no you do have you really you thank god in the middle of sex sometimes i just be like yes jesus thank you jesus do you think god though is influencing your sex um like do you think as a little children are out there dying in this world do you think he goes kevin irwin is having sex with some strange

00:16:23 - 00:16:29 | Speaker 1:

woman right now i think he's a part of every moment every moment thank you even that one

00:16:29 - 00:16:43 | Speaker 3:

even the girl that door dashed the next day that's right well then why did he not answer your prayer and bring door dash for you he answered my prayer the night before by the way do you feel guilty talking like this hallelujah

00:16:43 - 00:16:51 | Speaker 4:

it's mojo in the mornings back in the day we give you clues you tell us the year we give you cool

00:16:51 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 3:

prizes we got asked that's got right that down as a topic i want to ask question if anybody's ever prayed for sex has anybody ever done that uh this was the year that jay-z and beyonce got

00:17:04 - 00:17:21 | Speaker 1:

married you know we were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date on the phone for a year and a half and that foundation is so important in the relationship just to have someone that you just like little known fact I'm going to give you a little dirty

00:17:21 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 3:

on the 30 the best gift given to them at their wedding that year was by Jeffrey Epstein Iron Man was the big movie I just want to look good enough so that people don't say why is Jelly

00:17:33 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 2:

Belly playing a superhero the truth is that the technology and the mythology of a character like Iron Man is actually pretty close at hand. So I think that it's that just brings a real interesting realism

00:17:48 - 00:18:08 | Speaker 3:

to it. And the big song. Paper Planes by MIA. What year was it? We'll set you up with tickets to see Mary J. Blige and Neo. Good luck. And then when we come back here, the Dirty and sold out Tate McCray tickets. We'll be right back. Prove what a big brain

00:18:08 - 00:18:21 | Speaker 4:

you have. Tell us when that stuff happened. Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. It's Mojo in the mornings, back in the day. What year was this?

00:18:21 - 00:18:26 | Speaker 3:

All right, three clues from the same year. This was the year that Jay-Z and Beyonce got married.

00:18:26 - 00:18:36 | Speaker 1:

You know, we were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date on the phone for a year and a half. Iron Man was the big movie.

00:18:36 - 00:18:48 | Speaker 2:

I just want to look good enough so that people don't say, why is Jelly Belly playing a superhero? The truth is that the technology and the mythology of a character like Iron Man is actually pretty close in hand.

00:18:48 - 00:19:53 | Speaker 3:

And the big song. From M.I.A. What year was this? We'll set you up with the prize. Cheryl, what year was that? Good morning, Mojo, 2008. Good morning, Cheryl. Winner! Congratulations to you. Cheryl, we're having fun together because I'm going to this concert, too. We're going to see Mary J. Blige and Neo. How great of a show is that? Oh, wonderful show there. Listen, I don't know if I'm going to get Chelsea to go with me. I may actually go with some guy friends, which I don't know if will be weird or not. But I need to see you. I think you better get Chelsea to go with you. She won't go. Chelsea's music taste is country. She doesn't like it. So when I listen to, you know, I'm going to be without you, baby. That's a banger. Right. Or if I'm listening to Miss Independent, da, da, da, da, da. And she's not into that. No. So can we hang with each other? Can we be at the show together?

00:19:54 - 00:19:57 | Speaker 1:

Oh, sure. I love it.

00:19:57 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 3:

All right. So let's find out where you are and where I am.

00:20:00 - 00:20:05 | Speaker 2:

and we'll all be together. All right, so tickets to the show. March 19th. Kev's coming, too. You're coming, too, right, Kev?

00:20:05 - 00:20:07 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to be in there with somebody for the show.

00:20:07 - 00:20:09 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, you're a Neo fan, aren't you?

00:20:09 - 00:20:15 | Speaker 4:

I do like Neo, but honestly, tickets are so exciting. I just bought Post Malone Jelly Roll tickets. I'm tapped out for a minute.

00:20:16 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 2:

What got you into Post Malone Jelly Roll? Are you more post or more jelly?

00:20:19 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 4:

It's a girls' night. All my friends are going.

00:20:21 - 00:20:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's cool. That's a good one. Tickets are expensive. By the way, you know what? This is insane, and there's good shows, but it's insane also. So they're playing such huge venues like the field.

00:20:31 - 00:20:35 | Speaker 4:

You have to pick and choose what you're going to go to because you cannot afford to go to everything.

00:20:35 - 00:20:44 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo, also, Mario's going to be performing at that Neo Mary J. Blige concert. Mario is there. Yeah, this is a show, show, show.

00:20:44 - 00:20:46 | Speaker 2:

That's now getting Shannon there because that's one of Shannon's favorites.

00:20:49 - 00:20:51 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:20:53 - 00:21:11 | Speaker 2:

All right, we got the 5 of 655 coming up here in just moments. It's a brand-new champion, Erica, going for her second win in a row. I listened back to our podcast yesterday after the show. That might have been one of the most suspenseful five at 655s in, like, a long time.

00:21:11 - 00:21:12 | Speaker 3:

That was crazy.

00:21:12 - 00:21:16 | Speaker 2:

Man. Maybe a question or two from this dirty. What's going on, Shannon?

00:21:17 - 00:22:14 | Speaker 4:

So I want to talk about Taylor Swift for just a moment. And to me, this is like a duh story, but she has made the NFL, her romance with Travis Kelsey specifically, is making billions of dollars for the NFL. A new report released just this morning says Taylor has generated nearly a billion dollars in free, I say that in air quotes, publicity for the NFL since they started dating in 2023. The swift effect, as they call it, has driven ticket sales, merch, a surge in female fans watching. Her game day appearances kept the media buzzing all the way to the Super Bowl, even though, I mean, we know how that ended for the Chiefs. But the big question now, will she be back at Arrowhead next season? And will Travis be back at Arrowhead next season? Yesterday, General Manager Brett Veach said this to reporters.

00:22:15 - 00:22:32 | Speaker 1:

How we left at the end of the season is that he was fired up. He has one more year under contract and still think he has that fired desire to play. And as far as I'm concerned, there is no deadline. I think we left it as he'd be back and we're excited to get him back and get him going.

00:22:32 - 00:22:38 | Speaker 4:

For the record, he signed a $34.2 million contract in 2024. So, he's going to be just saying.

00:22:39 - 00:22:43 | Speaker 2:

All those stats that you said about Taylor, it's like, duh, duh, duh, duh.

00:22:43 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 4:

I know. They had to release an official report about it this morning, but a billion dollars in publicity.

00:22:48 - 00:23:02 | Speaker 2:

Oh, and she was in their promo reel. Like, they said, I think, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't there, like, disputes over the fact that Jared Goff didn't make the first cut of that thing, and yet Taylor was in the first cut of the NFL season? I think we did talk about that.

00:23:02 - 00:24:07 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. Okay, Drake is reportedly backing away from several claims made against Universal Music Group in his ongoing lawsuit. This move could lead to now a potential dismissal of that case. And if you remember, the lawsuit stems from Drake's belief that UMG conspired to boost the popularity and success of Kendrick's Not Like Us in an attempt to damage Drake's brand. So in a letter to the court that was filed over the weekend, UMG lawyer Wallen Ransom wrote that Drake has informed him and his legal team that he will drop the allegations he initially included in that lawsuit against the company, but only certain allegations. And he doesn't get specific about which ones, but that whole thing could just be going bye-bye at this point. And by the way, while we're talking about Drake, just announced he has canceled the rest of his Australia and New Zealand tour dates due to scheduling conflicts. Air quotes for the second time in history. A rep did say they're working on rescheduling the shows. I don't know if that's going to happen. That's the story.

00:24:08 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 3:

But, but, though, because I know the first thing people love to allude to is that tickets aren't selling. We'll allow you to know he's performing at Wireless Fest in July. And he's already sold out three dates. Where's Wireless Fest? That's in London. Who else is on the ticket lineup, though, for Wireless Fest? I don't know, but I don't know who's bigger than Drake, though. I think he's like the top person. How's his new music?

00:24:33 - 00:24:34 | Speaker 2:

Is it good?

00:24:34 - 00:24:54 | Speaker 3:

So Drake, I feel like he needs to do something before he drops a solo project because obviously people are still looking at him like he took a loss. So he dropped the collaborative project with Party Next Door a couple Fridays ago called Something Sexy for the Ladies. so it's really melodic and love songs, but he says he's working on a solo album, so I guess stay tuned.

00:24:55 - 00:25:09 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado is... spark in all sorts of relationship rumors with Kid Rock. We've been talking about this for the past couple of weeks, but she refuses to confirm nor deny all of that speculation. This was

00:25:09 - 00:25:15 | Speaker 2:

yesterday. You know, people are saying it's a high power, you know, connection with you and Kid Rock

00:25:15 - 00:25:33 | Speaker 3:

right now. Oh, we had a great time at the Turning Point Gala. I had a lot of good friends there. Going any further relationship-wise? Well, here's the deal. Now, y'all with all your stories, mom won't start asking stop asking for concert tickets so that's the problem i'm facing are you able to

00:27:29 - 00:28:49 | Speaker 5:

Actually, no. I was kind of hoping. I'm thinking to myself with the way that my computer is working this morning, I was going to actually say maybe it should be a Friday because the things are so screwed up here. Lindsey, say hi to Erica. Erica, say hi to Lindsey. Hi, Erica. Erica, yesterday had one of the best wins that we've had in definitely 2025 in the 5 of 6.55, beaten a 14-time champion. Can you knock her off today? I don't know. I'm going to try. All right. Let's see. We're going to lock you up in a soundproof area, Erica. You're going to hear from Lydia. Okay. And then we will ask these questions to you first, Lindsay. Question number one in the 5 of 6.55. This Hotline Bling rapper just canceled the rest of his Australia and New Zealand tour due to a scheduling conflict. Who is he? Drake. Question number two. Oh, the Bulls.

00:28:53 - 00:29:09 | Speaker 5:

Question number three. McDonald's says it's not increasing the price of its egg menu items in the wake of the bird flu affecting egg prices. What's the name of the famous McDonald's sandwich that includes egg, cheese, and Canadian bacon?

The bacon, egg, and cheese McMuffin?

00:29:17 - 00:29:35 | Speaker 5:

Question number four. Alex Earle's Hot Mess podcast just was dropped by Alex Cooper's media company as rumors of a feud escalate. What is Alex Cooper's podcast name?

00:29:37 - 00:29:38 | Speaker 1:

00:30:52 - 00:30:53 | Speaker 2:

Last night, Luka Doncic scored 19 points in the first game that he was playing against his old team that traded him. What team was that?

00:31:04 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, come on. Egg McMuffin. There you go, exactly.

00:31:36 - 00:32:15 | Speaker 1:

People think it's a trick question or something like that. It's like, what's the name of the two all beef patty special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, and sesame seed bun? What's the name of that one? Big Mac. Big Mac. You said that like your ABCs. It's a song. That used to be the song. Alex Earle's Hot Mess podcast just dropped by Alex Cooper's media company as rumors of a feud escalate. What is Alex Cooper's podcast name? Three seconds.

00:32:16 - 00:32:17 | Speaker 2:

00:32:39 - 00:32:43 | Speaker 2:

Stranger Things. Yeah. Four to one finals four.

00:32:44 - 00:32:44 | Unknown:

00:32:46 - 00:32:47 | Speaker 2:

Nice win.

00:32:47 - 00:32:52 | Speaker 1:

I like Erica. Erica, let's go on a run here. Let's see what happens, okay?

00:32:54 - 00:32:57 | Speaker 2:

Yep. How about a brisk walk and not a run?

00:32:57 - 00:32:59 | Speaker 1:

You know what? That's probably right.

00:32:59 - 00:33:01 | Speaker 2:

I'll take a brisk walk.

00:33:03 - 00:33:08 | Speaker 1:

Do they call it jogging or yogging anymore, or is that not a term anymore?

00:33:08 - 00:33:09 | Speaker 2:

Still too much. No.

00:33:10 - 00:33:14 | Speaker 1:

All right. Congratulations. Say that again.

00:33:15 - 00:33:17 | Speaker 2:

Can I give a shout-out to my son on the way to school this morning?

00:33:17 - 00:33:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, absolutely.

00:33:19 - 00:33:23 | Speaker 2:

00:33:25 - 00:33:37 | Speaker 1:

Lindsay, stay on the phone because Lydia's going to set you up with a $50 gift card to Checkers. Checkers. Sweet. Congrats to you, okay? Hang on the phone for just one second. All right, don't go anywhere.

00:33:38 - 00:33:40 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55.

00:33:42 - 00:34:32 | Speaker 1:

Five lies tell your mom. This is really one of the wilder ones. It seemed like it was just going to be a traditional five lies. You know what I mean? Good opportunity to give a prize to a mom. Kayla calls us up and tells us, yeah, here's the idea. I've got this guy that I've known for years, family friend. My husband's not real comfortable with the relationship that we have because he thinks that this guy likes me and all this stuff. So we're going to do a little five lies where we make it seem like she's calling her mom up to tell her mom that she's cheating with this guy. You're going to hear that. It goes kind of weird because mom seems like she's the type of mom that would actually keep the secret, right? Well, then she hangs up the phone on us, and we can't get her on the phone. What was it, two weeks?

00:34:32 - 00:34:34 | Speaker 2:

Yes, almost.

00:34:35 - 00:35:22 | Speaker 1:

Literally. So for two weeks, we could not get her on the phone. Now, we all think to ourselves, well, what would a daughter do in this case? She'd probably call her mom up at one point during this time and say, hey, guys, you know, mom, let me tell you this. The radio guys were doing a goofy little contest, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, not Kayla. Kayla kept the secret going and didn't. want mom to get the to find out that it was us because she wanted us to be able to tell her so that she could get the reaction on the radio in a moment you're going to hear mom's reaction to finding out that kayla has been lying to her mom for two weeks about having an affair this would you call this a five lies war of the roses uh yeah kind of all right let's listen to it here

00:35:22 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 2:

we go it's mojo in the morning it's mojo in the morning five lies to tell your mama kyla are you

00:35:31 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 1:

there hi yeah how are you i'm good how are you good kyla gave us a lot of info so that we could do a five lies so you're a married woman i am but you actually have a childhood friend that you openly say has feelings for you yes oh boy does your husband know that yes oh and is he okay with that or does he try to make sure this guy doesn't ever get around you uh you could say the second

00:36:02 - 00:36:07 | Speaker 2:

option for sure but i respect him enough that you know i'll keep him as a good friend and he knows

00:36:07 - 00:36:13 | Speaker 1:

that oh wait you're still even friends with him he doesn't yeah your husband doesn't say hey stay

00:36:13 - 00:36:29 | Speaker 2:

the hell away from him he doesn't feel comfortable hanging out with me alone which is perfectly fine um i have tried suggesting to hang out with him so dallas could at least get to know him and like they can meet and have like a mutual don't or sorry don't mess with her scenario

00:36:29 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 1:

and uh it's just no so dallas is your husband david is the friend that's in love with you yes all right we're gonna do these lies listen for listen for these lies here from uh kyla We're going to call our mom up, and we're going to do lie number one. You're going to say that this childhood friend, David is his name, stopped by the tobacco shop. I understand you work at a tobacco shop.

00:36:54 - 00:36:55 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

00:36:55 - 00:36:56 | Speaker 1:

All right. Lie number two.

00:36:56 - 00:36:58 | Speaker 2:

Say, he looks so good now.

00:36:59 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three. Say, I felt something different when I saw him. Lie number four.

00:37:06 - 00:37:09 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to hang out with him, but you cannot tell my husband, Dallas.

00:37:10 - 00:37:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:37:10 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 1:

And lie number five, if he's better in bed, I might keep him around.

00:37:16 - 00:37:18 | Unknown:

Oh, okay. Oh, my God.

00:37:18 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever talk to your mom about who's better in bed at all? Or do you even know if this guy, you've never had sex with this guy, have you?

00:37:27 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 2:

I've never, never touched him unless it was like a normal friendly hug that I give. But other than that, we've never done anything. And my mom, she's like, she knows him. We used to live in the same area when I was little.

00:37:40 - 00:37:43 | Speaker 1:

We're calling mom up right now. Here we go.

00:37:49 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Can you hear me? Mom, can you? Hey, mom, I got to talk to you. What's going on? Why aren't you answering your cell phone? Oh, it's just... You need to listen, okay? Please. I need your help, all right? What's up? And I need you to just listen. so you remember david that guy okay all right so he came in i haven't seen him in like two years and he came into the tobacco shop today and i cannot believe it mom he looks so good now okay okay and i'm not gonna lie um i felt something different when i saw him and I'm going to hang out with him, but you cannot tell Dallas at all, please. Mom? Okay. What's wrong with hanging out with him? He's a friend. Oh, but he looks so damn good. Kyra. Oh, listen. A lot of guys look so damn good. Believe me, I go there. But listen, if he's better in bed than he does, I might have to keep him around. But you can't tell Dallas. Where are you? Oh, I'm at work, but you promise you won't tell him? Okay. Carla, you need to rethink things. Think about what you're telling me. I don't need a lecture. no i'm just saying think about what you tell me so just use your brain and your senses i don't want to hear about and don't let no no we're gonna go that part because it's the same thing basically okay but i love you i love your brain use your control like i have to use mine wait mom what

00:40:00 - 00:40:06 | Speaker 3:

I love you. I love you, too.

00:40:07 - 00:40:13 | Speaker 2:

Mom. Hi. Mom. It's me, David. How are you?

00:40:14 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 3:

I'm fine. How are you?

00:40:16 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 2:

Good. Listen, this is kind of an awkward thing to say, but we actually are laying here with no clothes on, and we wanted to call in to say hi.

00:40:30 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:40:31 - 00:40:33 | Speaker 2:

Your daughter's lost control. I just want you to know that.

00:40:36 - 00:40:43 | Speaker 3:

Okay. I got to get back to cutting hair.

00:40:44 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh. Wait. Okay.

00:40:47 - 00:40:50 | Speaker 3:

All right. Bye. Mom. Mom, wait. Mom.

00:40:50 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, she hung up the phone. She hung up. Well, let's leave it at that. Nice job. Fix that mess now, Kyla.

00:41:01 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. I have so many questions.

00:41:05 - 00:41:10 | Speaker 2:

Quick question. Do we think your mom also has a guy that maybe she's hanging out with, too?

00:41:11 - 00:41:13 | Speaker 1:

Listen, it's a long story.

00:41:15 - 00:42:04 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't think this one's going to. Hold on a second. Let's call your mom here. Hold on a second here. By the way, that was the wildest part. Her mom just seemed so natural, wasn't she? With, I'll keep your secret. I won't tell anyone. Now, that's where it was left, and then we could not get mom back. We called every five seconds trying to get mom back on the phone. We even called the salon to try to set up an appointment so that we could see mom. She wouldn't take our calls. I feel so awful. Should we just left it at that? No. Now knowing, I thought for sure Kyla was going to call mom instantly when mom got off from work, right? That's what I would do. Not Kyla. Kyla, she just lets it go. She ends up going on with her life for two weeks until we made this telephone call.

00:42:09 - 00:42:09 | Speaker 1:

Hello?

00:42:11 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 2:

Mom?

00:42:12 - 00:42:13 | Speaker 1:

Hello?

00:42:13 - 00:42:14 | Speaker 2:

Kyla's mom?

00:42:15 - 00:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Yes?

00:42:16 - 00:42:18 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the morning.

00:42:20 - 00:42:21 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

00:42:21 - 00:42:25 | Speaker 2:

And we were calling you because we had you on five lies to tell your mom.

00:42:27 - 00:42:34 | Speaker 3:

So great. Jesus Christ, man, Eddie. Jesus Christ, man, Eddie.

00:42:34 - 00:42:46 | Speaker 2:

I love it. We felt bad about the whole situation, but gosh, we got some great gossip out of Kyla. You guys have a fun life, an interesting life.

00:42:47 - 00:42:51 | Speaker 3:

Kyla Morgan? Oh, no. Never good.

00:42:51 - 00:43:01 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. But aren't you glad, though, that Kyla's actually living, like, a nice, quiet life? Everything's good, except for the kids that are screaming now in the background?

00:43:02 - 00:43:05 | Speaker 1:

Right. That's a good life, though. It's good life to have kids.

00:43:05 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 2:

That's good. Yeah. It is. But we got a prize for you. You won a prize for Five Lies. Yeah.

00:43:11 - 00:43:13 | Speaker 3:

We won a prize.

00:43:13 - 00:43:38 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So she won you a prize for being on Five Lies to tell your mom and, you know, having your heart rate go up like that. okay well what did we win we'll get you your we'll tell you we'll tell you here off the air so um but i just i just wanted to make sure you're okay i'm okay now i want to know what

00:43:58 - 00:44:04 | Speaker 2:

Wait, so you, Kyla, you went over, like, a week and a half and didn't tell your mom that that was fake?

00:44:05 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh, and there was a few times, like, my husband, my mom called my husband, and my husband's like, your mom looked like she had to tell me something. I said, oh, I bet she did. Oh, my God.

00:44:16 - 00:44:16 | Speaker 3:

Time for a game.

00:44:17 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's unreal.

00:44:19 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 3:

What the f*** is that? Oh, my God, my heart.

00:44:23 - 00:44:24 | Speaker 2:

Kyla, you are...

00:44:24 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 3:

It's okay. I didn't even tell my husband. He's looking at me going, what the heck? So now his heart's racing.

00:44:31 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. That is hysterical. Well, you know what? It's all lies. So there was part of our five lies to tell your mom. Mom's going to get a prize. Nobody's fooling around. Everything's good, right?

00:44:45 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 1:

Everything's clear

00:44:47 - 00:44:52 | Speaker 2:

And Kyla's great at keeping Mojo in the morning secrets for us I like that

00:44:52 - 00:44:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh my god

00:44:57 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

00:45:40 - 00:45:46 | Speaker 4:

god that's amazing i still cannot believe it i would have called my mom immediately right

00:45:46 - 00:46:16 | Speaker 1:

i don't get it first off do you guys believe the amount of moms that will keep their daughter's secrets like this? I can believe it. Yeah. I'm blown away by this. Like I, I, first off, I want to ask this question. I just, as we were listening to this and I'm listening to the mom go, what was the lie about? Do you think that there are other moms out there that are keeping a huge secret for their daughters or any daughters that like have given their mom secrets? You think so, Kat? How

00:46:16 - 00:46:26 | Speaker 2:

many? Guaranteed thousands. I think especially if the secret is something that the mom has already been doing herself i think her ability to empathize and understand her daughter in that

00:46:26 - 00:47:03 | Speaker 4:

situation helps her keep the secret i mean i would keep any secret for loose yeah i mean unless it was unless it was like like obviously somebody's safety was in jeopardy or something but first i think i i think um any mom would say the same would you act like brian laundry's parents would you call the lawyer no that's what i'm saying that's what i'm saying when there's a murder involved it's a different story okay by the way if you have not watched the gabby petito documentary on netflix you need to even if you think you know the story you need to but yeah chelsea actually

00:47:03 - 00:47:10 | Speaker 1:

told joe in front of his girlfriend elissa that he would actually drive him to a different area

00:47:10 - 00:47:15 | Speaker 3:

drive him out of the country if that were the case i believe chelsea one million percent on that

00:47:15 - 00:47:25 | Speaker 1:

oh my well i looked at her i'm like and i would turn you in in a second i would turn all your asses and then i would make the documentary for make the money but i think chelsea if she knew

00:47:25 - 00:47:30 | Speaker 3:

that you knew would kill you and leave you behind yes you know that's true yeah they would never

00:47:30 - 00:47:47 | Speaker 1:

tell me because i'd go on the radio and tell it the next morning for the people who have no idea what you all are talking about raise his hand you don't know the gabby petito story no so gabby petito was this girl that met this guy brian laundry they met up in like north with long

00:47:47 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 4:

island or something like that yes super cute 19 20 years old they were going to document their

00:47:53 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 1:

driving across the country and do this whole like start a youtube channel yeah and they did this and the guy ended up killing her out in like utah somewhere they did a law and order episode about

00:48:05 - 00:48:11 | Speaker 2:

this i think like literally in this in this new season this is exactly the storyline yeah okay

00:48:11 - 00:48:26 | Speaker 1:

And so the guy ended up, they had their problems and stuff. He ended up going all the way from Utah to the parents and lived down in Florida. He drove the car back without her because he obviously killed her because they found her body later.

00:48:26 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 3:

He got caught because of TikTok.

00:48:29 - 00:48:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, and I think also, don't you think he got caught too because he took that truck home and the truck was in her name. So it gave the cops the opportunity to seize the truck.

00:48:39 - 00:48:52 | Speaker 3:

Right, but they didn't know where Gabby was. and it wasn't until it blew up on TikTok and other vloggers started going through their footage and then somebody found their van in the background of their own vlog and said the van was staying there.

00:48:53 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 1:

Kev, it's on Netflix. It's only three episodes and they're like quick episodes. They're less than an hour episodes. It's worth watching.

00:49:00 - 00:49:05 | Speaker 3:

It's fascinating and so very sad. And I followed it when it happened and I still found the documentary interesting.

00:49:05 - 00:49:10 | Speaker 4:

And his mom and dad still never got charged. I mean, talk about keeping a lie and getting away with it.

00:49:10 - 00:49:39 | Speaker 1:

They say people go by their home. They still live in the same home. I was wondering that. People drive by their home, and they crap on their lawn. They say that people will throw stuff, and literally people will drop trow and poop right on their lawn because they hate their parents so much. I still want to know if there's anybody listening that has ever told their mom a big secret and their mom kept the secret. What's going on, Casey? How are you doing? I'm good. How are you? Good. It's Mojo in the Morning. What did you think of that five lies? That was a crazy one.

00:49:40 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 5:

Yes, it was. Yes, it was. I just want to say I love you guys. I listen to you guys every morning.

00:49:43 - 00:49:45 | Speaker 3:

I love you, too.

00:49:47 - 00:50:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, if any mom, if they're any kind of girl's girl, they're going to have, they're going to keep every secret they can. I mean, most girls these days, because of the way things are, they're girl's girls. They're going to watch out for each other.

00:50:00 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 2:

So mom, daughter, friend, that's what they're going to do.

00:50:03 - 00:50:04 | Speaker 5:

Do you have daughters?

00:50:05 - 00:50:09 | Speaker 2:

I have a daughter and a son. How old's your daughter? 17.

00:50:10 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 5:

Okay, if your daughter's like 20-something or 30-something, gets married, would you keep a secret that your daughter was being unfaithful to your son-in-law?

00:50:20 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't think I would tell him. I would definitely have a conversation with her, but I don't think that would be something that's not mine to tell. That's something that she would have to deal with on her own.

00:50:30 - 00:50:37 | Speaker 5:

I found it interesting that this mom, by the way, didn't even talk to her daughter about it after a week and a half of that five lives.

00:50:37 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 2:

Right, I would have been asking questions. I'm nosy.

00:50:41 - 00:50:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. It's kind of, you know what's funny, though, is I picture this mom going, I don't want to get even more involved.

00:50:47 - 00:50:47 | Speaker 1:

Uh-huh.

00:50:47 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Man.

00:50:49 - 00:50:51 | Speaker 1:

If Joe came to you and said he was unfaithful, would you tell his girlfriend?

00:50:52 - 00:51:09 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't tell his girlfriend, but I'd give him the advice that he should. But the unfaithfulness part would be the weirdest part because you would see, you know, I would see his girlfriend all the time, you know. But you're right, though. Like that mom just said, you counsel and you do that.

00:51:09 - 00:51:30 | Speaker 4:

She also said that if she's a girl's girl, do you feel like, because I feel like my mom would keep my secret probably more close to the chest than she would my sister. Like I think my mom, I think my relationship, I don't know. I feel like the love that my mom shared, I don't know if it's a mother and son thing. I don't know. That bond is something that I feel like is extremely strong.

00:51:30 - 00:51:33 | Speaker 1:

I agree with you, which is why I think it's just favorites.

00:51:34 - 00:51:34 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that could be it.

00:51:34 - 00:51:38 | Speaker 1:

It's not even like mom, daughter, father, son. It's just who's your favorite child.

00:51:39 - 00:51:42 | Speaker 5:

Voice this guy is A. A's got one for us. A, you there?

00:51:43 - 00:51:44 | Speaker 6:

Yes, I'm here.

00:51:45 - 00:51:46 | Speaker 5:

Hey, tell your story.

00:51:47 - 00:52:16 | Speaker 6:

So I've been going out with somebody for about six, seven years. on and off we were on a like week break or whatever during that i had went to a concert with another girl and i hooked up with her that night okay and my mom is passed away so then i'll go to the grave obviously went to the grave with her wow so your mom is the only

00:52:16 - 00:52:37 | Speaker 5:

person that knew that you did this that you cheated and she she kept that yeah all all the way to the grave that's kind of one of those weird things where it's like god i hope my mom never tells this but then the the lie goes to the grave that's that's pretty amazing do you feel bad though that you your mom passed away knowing that your daughter her daughter was a cheater

00:52:37 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 6:

uh well i mean it wasn't cheating i was on a break

00:52:42 - 00:52:49 | Speaker 5:

i like the way i like that yeah just like friends what what's going on barb hi

00:52:50 - 00:52:51 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Mojo.

00:52:52 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 5:

Hey, what's going on, Barb?

00:52:53 - 00:52:53 | Speaker 2:

First time, long time.

00:52:53 - 00:53:31 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Barb Barb's on the phone. Yes, when my daughter was pregnant with her first daughter, we hid that from her dad until we couldn't hide it no more from him. And then the second one, we hid from him because he was going through cancer. and every time she got the courage to tell him we would be back in the hospital so we hit that one and he did not know until the second granddaughter was two weeks old that she had a baby oh boy wow

00:53:31 - 00:53:43 | Speaker 5:

so you guys this is uh this is something that's common it's interesting that you say you hit you hit it when you're hiding it too you're hiding it from your spouse too yes and that was hard to do

00:53:43 - 00:54:05 | Speaker 3:

because when we found out that he had cancer and he's like you know what i'm done you know i lived my life and you know he was ready to just say i'm done with it but i'm like no you know we have to fight this because i knew that she was pregnant but i couldn't come out and say that she was

00:54:05 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 1:

pregnant why not tell him and give him hope why hide it because because the first one i hid

00:54:12 - 00:54:30 | Speaker 3:

and i told her when she told me she was pregnant with the second one and i told her i said now this is your responsibility to tell your dad that you're pregnant it's not my responsibility no more i did it with the first one and that was hard to do now this one you have to tell him

00:54:30 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 5:

interesting yeah i i've man i gotta tell you uh the thing that megan just said was so true is like you that would probably make him feel better or you know feel like he was gonna fight this thing a little bit more uh juliana your mom kept your secrets yes you know what all these calls are making me realize i think my wife's keeping secrets from me she's probably got a bunch stashed away what's what was the biggest secret that she kept uh right now

00:55:00 - 00:55:09 | Speaker 3:

Oh, is she still keeping it? I mean, this is, I was a mistress of a co-worker. I was a happy one. Yeah.

00:55:10 - 00:55:10 | Unknown:

Wow.

00:55:11 - 00:55:25 | Speaker 3:

And my father knows the family of that co-worker. It was like, it was a long talk with her. But she, to this day, she has kept it.

00:55:26 - 00:55:26 | Speaker 6:

Wow.

00:55:26 - 00:55:27 | Speaker 3:

From my dad.

00:55:28 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 6:

You got to love it. It's like the five lies where mom's keeping the infidelity secrets for you. Wow.

00:55:34 - 00:55:35 | Speaker 3:

Either ride or die.

00:55:36 - 00:55:50 | Speaker 6:

That is, yeah, that's interesting. Your mom is your true ride or die. Susan, what's up? Hi, Susan. Hey. Susan, you're the mom that kept the fidelity secret? Who was the unfaithful one?

00:55:51 - 00:56:38 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so my son called me up. He lives in a different town. he called me up and he's like mom I need to talk to you and I'm like okay so he he came home and he sat me down on the couch and he's like he was married for three years at that point and he's like I fell in love with somebody else and I don't know what to do I'm in love with two people and I just listened to everything he had to say I had a conversation with him and he was asking for my advice and i'm like yeah that's that's your call i said i cannot make that call for you you have to live it that's your life did you like his current relationship yeah that's the question

00:56:38 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 6:

yeah was he was he married or was he dating at the time married no he was he was married

00:56:43 - 00:57:11 | Speaker 4:

three years at that point did you like your daughter-in-law um i did i did very much so um not enough no so he yeah he's in divorce right now he's going through a divorce and he's with the other person would she ever call you oh he is wow did you oh the my daughter-in-law will not since that day she will not take any phone calls or she wants nothing to do with us

00:57:11 - 00:57:21 | Speaker 2:

I get it, but I also get you not saying anything. It is not your, it's not your story to insert yourself in, you know? It's not.

00:57:22 - 00:57:22 | Speaker 4:

You're right.

00:57:23 - 00:57:28 | Speaker 6:

Man, Susan. Susan, I got to tell you, you're the rock. I need your, will you keep secrets for me?

00:57:30 - 00:57:30 | Unknown:

Sure.

00:57:31 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 2:

You want to know what's so funny? In our family, if we want the word to spread very quickly, we tell my mom. It is the opposite. The exact opposite. That's my dad, too.

00:57:44 - 00:58:00 | Speaker 5:

I checked your phone and confirmed you were cheating on me. What a relief. I thought I was insane. Another world-famous War of the Roses happens tomorrow morning at 7 and 9 on Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:58:00 - 00:58:02 | Speaker 6:

Shannon, what you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:58:02 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 2:

Well, Luka Doncic had 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists in his very first game against the Dallas Mavericks since they traded him to the Lakers, leading L.A. to a 107-99 victory last night. And man, oh, man, did he just stare down that Mavs bench.

00:58:21 - 00:58:35 | Speaker 7:

I can't wait to see the facial reactions, the trash talking, the histrionics, the body language. Things could get real spicy here throughout this game as Doncic rips another one and immediately turns to the Mavericks' base.

00:58:37 - 00:58:47 | Speaker 2:

LeBron helping out his new teammate by scoring 16 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter, while L.A. held on for its third straight win and its 13th win in 16 games.

00:58:47 - 00:59:00 | Speaker 6:

So, A.D. is hurt, right? And there was talk that the Mavericks were going to ask about a physical or something with him. Is there anything more going on with that, Kevin? Because he hurt himself, like, after game number one?

00:59:00 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 1:

No, I haven't heard that. The last thing I heard was they're going to reevaluate him in two weeks to see if it's going to be an extended period of time far beyond what they thought uh the best revenge is success and that's what Luka had last night Jordan Brand did something I thought was pretty funny Jordan Brand they have Luka Doncic signed to them as an athlete and he's all he's known for his exquisite car collection and his number 77 and they had a they had a video of him replacing his Texas 77 license plate with California and They bought out an entire parking lot for him to park his car because L.A. is his new home. Sweet revenge.

00:59:40 - 00:59:56 | Speaker 6:

Wow. That Mavs general manager. He was at the game. Yeah, it's going to be interesting. I mean, I think that this is one of those trades that could go down as obviously the biggest bust unless Davis comes back and plays great basketball.

00:59:57 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 2:

Two days after his rep denied his...

01:00:00 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 5:

rumored drug use, Justin Bieber on Instagram sharing a video of himself rapping about being high. You can check out his Instagram to see the video. He's actually like mouthing the lyrics. I fly high like magpie. I go high like I'm that guy. He's shirtless dancing. There's a buddy with him dancing, smoking a cigarette. And it's just the timing here is probably not the best because this post lands just two days after Justin's rep came out to say that the rumors of him using drugs are absolutely not true labeling all of the speculation as exhausting and pitiful salacious and just keeping harmful narratives alive and he posted video rapping about being high does he look bad in a video to you yeah i think so i mean look at the comments people are like drugs are destroying

01:00:46 - 01:00:51 | Speaker 4:

him is the top comment why is he doing that thing where he's like hitting his pelvis and pointing at

01:00:51 - 01:01:08 | Speaker 3:

his junk this is weird this look like regular bieber to me i don't know i mean he smoked weed before like that's not a new thing he doesn't look like a drug addict in this video though i don't know lydia you big bieber you seen this video yeah and i do think he's going through some

01:01:08 - 01:01:12 | Speaker 1:

struggles right now i think especially after selena announced her engagement i think that did

01:01:12 - 01:01:47 | Speaker 5:

it and the diddy stuff this year uh breaking this morning jay-z now listed as the number one suspect on the Jeffrey Epstein list. People are betting. People are placing bets. There is a 70% chance that he is on it. Also, Bill Clinton's name being on the Epstein list has reached 65% odds and the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Jamie, I think his name is Diamond, Dimmon. I don't know how to say it. Yeah. Has also risen to become the number 7

01:01:47 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 2:

suspect. So these are all people that they suspect or that people are guessing?

01:01:54 - 01:01:55 | Speaker 5:

They're literally betting.

01:01:56 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

And you can bet on this on betting apps?

01:01:58 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 5:

Apparently.

01:01:59 - 01:02:00 | Speaker 2:

That's amazing.

01:02:00 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 5:

Jay-Z, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, duh. Tony Blair's on here. So I don't know what app this is that I'm looking at here, screenshots from.

01:02:14 - 01:02:36 | Speaker 2:

TikTok is saying that the list is coming out this week because last week the Attorney General Pam Bondi said that she had it on her desk and there were rumors that it was going to come out this week some people are saying that they may push it back because the ukraine russian war may end this week so a lot of people are saying that this might be like the big bombshell the big news bombshell that

01:02:36 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 3:

could come out boy they after jay-z ain't they yeah i think they're at listen i think they're

01:02:41 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 2:

after uh whoever is on that list because anybody that's on that list doesn't make a difference where you are you're you're going to be you're on the list yeah yeah yeah although i think for some reason bill clinton has been like fully known to have been on that that island well prince andrew too well prince andrew i feel like they kind of pushed him off and they don't talk to him anymore but bill clinton still goes out on speaking engagements and oh i see him and he still

01:03:05 - 01:03:27 | Speaker 4:

has access to the royal funds he's not a public facing servant of the family yeah he's not a representative of the family but he still lives on the family's estates he still takes money from the family there's no real repercussions he actually just got to retire from his job if anything he got a better gig out of it all yeah prince prince andrew you're talking about through

01:03:27 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 2:

this whole thing yeah right because i think the bill i think that's wild though the bill clinton thing is that nobody has ever like here's the guy and i know he's a former president of the united states i mean it's wildly known that he has actually been on that island like there's nobody

01:03:41 - 01:04:03 | Speaker 5:

doubting that and the sad thing is i think people are like yeah just bill we knew it was just bill speaking of bill clinton and i digress have you guys seen monica lewinski lately she has that podcast she's making a ton of appearances to promote it holy cow she looks amazing talk about somebody who took a scandal and turned a mess into a message i mean this girl she is yeah she

01:04:03 - 01:04:09 | Speaker 4:

got unfair treatment in that whole thing do you guys watch the daily show anybody watch the daily

01:04:09 - 01:04:47 | Speaker 5:

show with john stewart you see what happened yesterday okay so he was talking about elon musk and how the Department of Government Efficiency has ignored federally funded pharmaceutical subsidies, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, he got so heated in his discussion that he smashed a mug. Well, he hurt his hand really bad, kept his hand under the desk for a couple of minutes after he smashed that mug. Then at one point kind of looked down and was like, I think I might need to go to the hospital. Later held up his very, very bloody hand. And the government's role I'm not done Ya bastards

01:04:47 - 01:04:58 | Speaker 1:

It's fine It's not fine It's not fine

01:04:58 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I know he got stitches

01:05:00 - 01:05:07 | Speaker 1:

I know he did. Yeah, that was bad. All right, for all of today's Dirty, catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

Stick around. A trip to Florida next. Get more dirt at MojoInTheMorning.com. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon lied about diarrhea. By the way, I saw that on the, so we posted that up on our teases today up on the thing. And when I saw it there, I thought, you know what? Sometimes we never get to some of the teases, the things that we talk about. I should just let it go and not let Shannon tell the story.

01:05:35 - 01:05:38 | Speaker 1:

And everybody think that I'm the one with diarrhea.

01:05:38 - 01:05:39 | Speaker 2:

Well, that's what I assumed.

01:05:40 - 01:05:43 | Speaker 1:

Which actually I'm not feeling that great this morning. I'm being very transparent, so maybe.

01:05:44 - 01:05:49 | Speaker 2:

Well. Foreshadow. If you diarrhea, diarrhea during this topic. So it makes it full circle. What's going on?

01:05:50 - 01:08:04 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I hate wasting food. And I feel like in our house, we unfortunately waste a lot of food. And it just pains me to look in my refrigerator and go, nobody's going to eat that. And I know it. And nobody's going to eat that. And I know it. And that's just going to rot in there until I throw it away. So the night before last, I was trying to clean out the fridge. And there was a big Ziploc bag that was filled with pepperoni slices left over from a pizza making night that we did with the kids. And so I went to toss them. I opened the bag and I was like, these are, they're not bad per se. I just know we're not going to use them. And I pan over to the three dogs who are just looking at me longingly, just wanting a pepperoni slice or 20. Yeah. And so I thought, well, rather than throw them away and waste them, I threw each of the dogs a few, maybe more than a few pepperoni slices. So fast forward to the next morning. I'm here in the studio. Zach saw this because I got it and I showed him. Wes, my husband Wes, sends me a photo of massive diarrhea all over our kitchen floor. In fact, I'll show you guys in the studio. It's raining from the ceiling. Do we want to see it? It looked like poop was raining from the ceiling. That's for sure. Well, and he's like one of the dogs. He's like, I think it was Willow, which is his Frenchie. I think something's wrong with her tummy. I woke up and this is what I'm dealing with this morning. how's your morning going well I played dumb and pretended that I didn't know why this diarrhea episode happened because I just did not feel like getting yelled at about it he has told me yes time and time again not to feed her anything but her own food and treats because she has a very sensitive stomach but I clean up dog poop all the time and being very honest with you it's kind of nice for somebody else in my household to have to clean up the dog poop for a change so I I said nothing. You're terrible. He's probably so stressed out about what could possibly be wrong with this dog. And you know. If he was going to take her to the vet or something for it, I would come clean.

01:08:04 - 01:08:07 | Speaker 2:

So wait, this is your first time saying it? He's hearing it right now?

01:08:08 - 01:08:12 | Speaker 1:

If he's hearing it. I don't know what he's doing. I was.

01:08:13 - 01:08:25 | Speaker 2:

This is it. Here, I was looking for the photo. Because I was going to say, this is even better that you haven't said it. You haven't said it. Oh, my gosh. It looked like a, you know, when you were a kid and they had those dots with the numbers and you would trace it to make a shape.

01:08:25 - 01:08:30 | Speaker 1:

There are 37 dots. That's a small dog. That's a lot of poop.

01:08:30 - 01:08:34 | Speaker 2:

Do you, Shannon, do you feed table scraps to the other dogs?

01:08:35 - 01:08:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm really bad about that. Yes, I know you're not supposed to, but like I, they love cucumber. They love the crust from the bread in the morning when I'm making Lucy and Smith lunch that my kids won't eat. So I give that to the dogs. Um, they love green beans. Yeah. I, I know there are obviously certain things that I cannot give

01:08:56 - 01:09:01 | Speaker 2:

them. Do you feed your dogs more organic than you feed his dog? Cause you gave it pepperoni?

01:09:01 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no. They all got it. They all got it. But his dog has a sensitive stomach and I know that, but I just felt bad. I can't give it to Bo and to Charlie and not to Willow.

01:09:14 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 2:

the funny thing about this whole thing is that the fact that you kept this thing even that morning like that he sent you the first text talking about the diarrhea like that you haven't that you didn't even say anything right away it took you to do a topic on the radio to actually

01:09:31 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 1:

mess up to this that's evil i learned from the best my friend you know what i would do if i was

01:09:39 - 01:09:52 | Speaker 2:

him that's you because i am the best i know i know i'm good at that if i'm wes i would feed smith and lucy tons of sugar on a day on a day or one of those weeks like if you have to work

01:09:52 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

late on a weekend or whatever it is he does that though like they'll ask to go to the mobile station down the street to get like

01:10:00 - 01:10:10 | Speaker 5:

And I'll say, no, you guys, you've eaten crappy all day. And then lo and behold, nobody's to be found in my house. And he loaded up his truck and took him down the street. So that happens all the time.

01:10:11 - 01:10:15 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's funny because I always thought that Wes was the more responsible one.

01:10:15 - 01:10:19 | Speaker 5:

He is. Except when it comes to wanting to be favorite stepdad.

01:10:20 - 01:10:28 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's good for him. Hold on a second. I'm going to pick this line up here because it says Wes Whitlam is on the phone. Wes

01:10:28 - 01:10:31 | Speaker 2:

Hi guys

01:10:31 - 01:10:33 | Speaker 1:

Good morning I'm assuming you're listening

01:10:33 - 01:10:37 | Speaker 5:

I gotta go to diarrhea right now What?

01:10:38 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 1:

Wes Yes Are you listening? I just got in my car So wait, you just got in the car So you literally just got in the car You have no idea what was just said on the radio

01:10:51 - 01:10:54 | Speaker 2:

No, Lydia called me

01:10:54 - 01:10:58 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so here's the deal Shannon, how much do you like us?

01:10:59 - 01:11:00 | Speaker 5:

A lot, I thought.

01:11:00 - 01:11:13 | Speaker 1:

We cannot say anything at all and go on with this and not podcast this segment that Shannon just admitted something on the radio. Or I can be a good friend to Wes, and I can tell Wes what just happened.

01:11:13 - 01:11:18 | Speaker 5:

But the past is in the past. It's already cleaned up and good. So why are you trying to create drama?

01:11:19 - 01:11:41 | Speaker 1:

Actually, you know what? Wes is the first one to reach out to me on my birthday. He sent me a nice... He's such a suck-up. You know what? You know this. Yes. I got you. I got you. Wes, Shannon hates your dog, and she fed the dog all the diarrhea food that your dog just diarrhea-ed all over the place.

01:11:43 - 01:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Are you kidding?

01:11:44 - 01:11:45 | Speaker 1:

Not kidding.

01:11:46 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Shannon, how you doing? but Wes what if I told you it was a way to make Willow feel very included in the dog family because her heart was aching so much over the fact that Willow could have been left out and felt less loved being the adopted stepchild of one Shannon Murphy that it resulted in just a little bit of diarrhea for you to clean up and honestly when you weigh the pros and cons just building that relationship between stepmother and stepdaughter uh sorry not stepdaughter stepdaughter i'm sorry i'm sorry samantha is a real stepdaughter i'm so sorry uh but to build up that relationship is fundamentally important for the running of your household yeah it's also fundamentally

01:12:28 - 01:12:36 | Speaker 5:

important not to feed a dog poison yeah exactly exactly they eat pepperoni it's the same dang

01:12:36 - 01:12:41 | Speaker 1:

thing this is just a fresh version next time see what happens what did you feed her pepperoni

01:12:41 - 01:12:42 | Speaker 5:

from the pizzas.

01:12:44 - 01:12:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay. All right. To be fair, have you ever eaten a pepperoni? I don't love this dog or anything. This dog didn't save my life or anything. She's nothing to me, right?

01:12:57 - 01:13:00 | Speaker 1:

Angel wants to say something to Shannon. What's up, Angel?

01:13:02 - 01:13:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes, dogs aren't supposed to have pepperoni. They eat pepperoni. I know. Oh, and we gave our dog pepperoni, too, because we had a bunch left, and he, like, something about they can't, like, digest it very good was vomiting all over the place and everything.

01:13:21 - 01:13:22 | Unknown:

Oh, no.

01:13:22 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 1:

I actually just Googled it. Pepperoni is as bad as giving your dog chocolate, and you're not supposed to have to do chocolate.

01:13:27 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 5:

Are you serious? Yes. I truly did not have any idea. You would never think that. Okay. Because in my head, I'm like, they get the treat version of it.

01:13:35 - 01:13:40 | Speaker 1:

I'm worried about you, too, Wes. She's trying to probably kill you, too, Wes. Sleep with one eye open.

01:13:41 - 01:13:47 | Speaker 5:

We felt so bad. Holy crap, you're right. I just Googled. I actually feel very terrible right now. I gave it to all three.

01:13:48 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 1:

Wes?

01:13:48 - 01:13:49 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I know.

01:13:49 - 01:13:53 | Speaker 3:

You would never think because it's just like me. Like, here, take this.

01:13:55 - 01:14:01 | Speaker 1:

By the way, Wes, I would worry about what she's feeding you. Don't ever take any of her food.

01:14:01 - 01:14:04 | Speaker 4:

I didn't know arsenic was bad. I don't eat her food anyways. Are you kidding me?

01:14:04 - 01:14:08 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Oh, Brenda, what's up? Hi, Brenda.

01:14:08 - 01:14:17 | Speaker 3:

pepperoni pepperoni is a terrible trigger I know about tomatoes chocolate grapes

01:14:17 - 01:14:22 | Speaker 5:

big no-no's I literally did not know about pepperoni until just pancreatitis

01:14:22 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 3:

is deadly do a job Shannon let me ask you a question if if if the dog died and

01:14:32 - 01:14:35 | Speaker 1:

didn't have diarrhea would you ever tell the story on the air and be it oh I

01:14:35 - 01:14:37 | Speaker 5:

I wouldn't tell it on the air. I would tell it to Wes.

01:14:38 - 01:14:39 | Speaker 1:

You would? You're a liar.

01:14:39 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 5:

No, I would have to. Are you kidding me?

01:14:41 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 1:

You would live. Oh, my God. You would take it to your grave. There's no way. You killed the man's dog, for God's sakes?

01:14:48 - 01:14:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, wow. I am sweating into my shirt.

01:14:50 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 2:

You remember when Willow had to have surgery?

01:14:52 - 01:14:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, and I took care of her all day.

01:14:55 - 01:14:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, is there a reason why you did? Do you want to talk about it now?

01:15:00 - 01:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no.

01:15:03 - 01:15:03 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:15:03 - 01:15:12 | Speaker 1:

I really feel bad. By the way, Wes. Truly, I hope other dog owners who are listening who did not know this, this is your PSA because I am learning this today.

01:15:13 - 01:15:18 | Speaker 4:

If anything happens to your dog, autopsy. Or me. Or you.

01:15:19 - 01:15:28 | Speaker 5:

Exactly. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:15:28 - 01:15:30 | Speaker 2:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:15:31 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 5:

Live. Mojo. Five, four, three, two, one. Ignition sequence start. Let me take y'all back to the beginning. This is it.

01:15:47 - 01:15:48 | Speaker 4:

All right, are you ready?

01:15:49 - 01:15:51 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the morning.

01:15:51 - 01:15:52 | Speaker 4:

You're a doo-doo hat.

01:15:56 - 01:15:57 | Speaker 5:

Let's go.

01:15:57 - 01:17:25 | Speaker 4:

All right, it's Mojo on the Morning coming up this hour on the show. There's a stranger in my house. That's on the way. Then right after that, you can't wear that shirt. And then we'll wrap it all up with, she's better when she's drunk. All coming up this morning here in the next hour. We have a second date update coming up too. Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We'll find out coming up at 8.20. Tomorrow, by the way, is War of the Roses again. Make sure you're listening tomorrow morning. We will have that for you at 7 and 9 o'clock. Yesterday's War of the Roses, wow. First off, I actually got comments that were sent in to me by shift leaders of different plants in our area, different factory plants that are listening to the show, telling me that when we did the War of the Roses, nothing was happening on their lines. People stopped. They actually stopped one, I forget which one it was. There was one of the Stellanus plants listening that said that they stopped the line for a second while the War of the Roses was going on until they figured out if that was somebody that was in their plant at that time. Because they all thought that they recognized Tiana's name because they had a Tiana in there. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. Kev, why'd you unfollow me?

01:17:26 - 01:18:32 | Speaker 3:

Did somebody unfollow you? Probably, but that isn't the situation. I'm contemplating whether or not I should unfollow someone else. Oh. So I get a notification that someone followed me, and I check it. I see the name, and I see it's a young lady, so I click her profile because I want to see her picture. The thumbnail looked nice. I wanted to see the rest of the profile, see if the carpet master drapes, you know what I'm saying, see how good she looked. When I click her profile, it's private. I hate that. First off, if you follow me, that should automatically mean that I have access to your profile. You have already decided that this is someone I want to interact with. So I shouldn't have to follow you in order to see your profile. But I was intrigued. I'm already halfway there. Let's hit the follow button. I hit the follow button thinking I'm going to see more pictures of this single beautiful female that is a single female in this picture. But when I click the profile after she accepts my request is nothing but like baby photos of like her kid and now i'm like i didn't follow you to look at this baby i followed you because i wanted to see you now i

01:18:32 - 01:18:46 | Speaker 1:

feel like is it wrong if i unfollow her because of that reason no well but i feel like that says something to her i feel like you can't you know you can just mute just mute her so you don't see

01:18:46 - 01:18:47 | Speaker 3:

That's doing too much.

01:18:47 - 01:19:04 | Speaker 1:

I'd rather just unfollow you. But that's like a blazing sign that you're not interested anymore. Do you think she'll even notice? It's also kind of rude. If she likes him, she'll notice it, right? No, if he unfollows her, she still follows him. She won't even notice.

01:19:04 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 2:

Bruh, people need better social media content. We should have a voting process, almost like American Idol-esque, where if your profile is not interesting enough, we vote you out, you're eliminated, get off the internet, and everybody should be public. It's her profile, she can post whatever she wants. Yeah, she posts her kid, that's what she uses her social for. Social media is not for you, it's for other people to judge you.

01:19:27 - 01:19:33 | Speaker 4:

Well, Cavett's just a dirty bastard that he was thinking dirty things about her, and then when he saw the kid, he felt guilty about it.

01:19:33 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 3:

No, no, that's not at all. And I wasn't thinking dirty things. If you look at somebody's little thumbnail, that's like an introduction. and i was very intrigued based on her picture i wanted to see more then i hated the fact that i couldn't see more because it was private so then there's like a little suspense because now i gotta wait for her to accept it so then when i see she accepts it i'm like bet like i'm about to see a plethora of photos and then it's just this bald head ass baby

01:20:00 - 01:20:05 | Speaker 2:

This is not what I saw on the floor. There's a guy version of this, and it's when you only have cars on your profile.

01:20:05 - 01:20:06 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true.

01:20:06 - 01:20:17 | Speaker 4:

Or dogs. Can I ask a question? Why does Instagram do that? Where Facebook, at least you can see like a first few photos. Like you can see like a couple of things.

01:20:18 - 01:20:18 | Speaker 3:

Sometimes, depending on the settings.

01:20:19 - 01:20:49 | Speaker 4:

Why does Instagram? First off, I hate the fact that in Instagram, you don't even know the person's name. So you have no clue because they can make up whatever name they want, you know, Zach244 or something like that. And then I also hate the fact that the thumbnail is so small, you can't even see what the person looks like. Yeah. So you have no idea if it's somebody you recognize. But I want to go back to something with Kevin. I want to go back to the fact that you only accept girls from their thumbnails that you think maybe look good. And just because this woman's a mom, you don't like her?

01:20:49 - 01:21:07 | Speaker 3:

It's not about her being a mom. The reason why I follow you is because I'm interested in your life. I want her kids part of her life. It's her life. But that's not all your life, and I'm not looking to just look at your child. I want to see you. You want to see her? Yeah, they need, like, baby grandma or something. Beggars can't be choosers, Kev.

01:21:07 - 01:21:20 | Speaker 4:

I ain't begging for the spit. Wait, did you just... I said spit. Oh, I thought I heard it. No, no. I was close, though. I just think that you are a dirty dog. That has nothing to do with dirty dogs.

01:21:20 - 01:21:25 | Speaker 3:

If you... Bruh. I'm unfollowing you now. Okay, so look. Why isn't her baby her profile picture?

01:21:26 - 01:21:29 | Speaker 4:

Because that's part of her life.

01:21:29 - 01:21:33 | Speaker 3:

Exactly. So why is all of the other pictures just her baby? I don't know.

01:21:33 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 4:

Okay, where are your thoughts on this one? 844-MOJO-LIVE. If you're a mom, if you're a mom listening to the show right now, and you can tell that only one person, one guy on the show cares about you, me. I don't care about, I'll see all your kids' photos. I have no problem with that. Do you date single moms? For sure. You're okay with that? Yeah, I had a drink with one yesterday. What's going on, Sarah?

01:21:59 - 01:21:59 | Unknown:

What?

01:21:59 - 01:21:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi.

01:22:00 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I'm a single mom of two kids, and my everything is private. The only things that I post are of my kids. So...

01:22:12 - 01:22:12 | Speaker 3:

You know, cooling in the back.

01:22:14 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 1:

It's 2025. I mean, no one's going to have everything open to the public, I guess, unless you're...

01:22:21 - 01:22:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. So, okay, so what do you, so basically you're saying to Kevin that this person's, you're trying to keep your life private, right? Other than your most precious thing, your child, or you just don't like your photos. That's why you're not posting these pictures.

01:22:35 - 01:22:35 | Speaker 1:

Right.

01:22:36 - 01:22:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I get it. I understand. But I think that Kev, Kev is trying to deep dive and see a little bit more out of this woman. That's what I'm saying. I don't agree with you, but that's what you're saying.

01:22:48 - 01:22:52 | Speaker 1:

The deep dive results to her kids. And she's probably all about her kids.

01:22:52 - 01:22:56 | Speaker 3:

And that's cool. But are you going to be mad if I unfollow you?

01:22:57 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 1:

No, she probably don't care because she's worried about her kids.

01:23:00 - 01:23:04 | Speaker 3:

Did you check the tab to see other photos that she was tagged in, maybe by friends? No, I didn't do that.

01:23:05 - 01:23:09 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so do that. Yeah, you're right. Chelsea, what are your thoughts on this? What do you think of Kevin?

01:23:09 - 01:23:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, how do we untag those?

01:23:12 - 01:23:13 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea?

01:23:14 - 01:23:16 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, is that what you said?

01:23:16 - 01:23:19 | Speaker 4:

Did you say Kelsey? It's written down here as Chelsea. Go ahead.

01:23:19 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 2:

just heard her say chelsea yeah confused that's okay go ahead sorry first time long time i think that's so cool um no i just like to say that i have you just lost a follower i just recently followed all of you guys because i wanted to put a name with the face i listen to you guys all the time and that is such a shallow comment my jaw dropped when he said because she

01:23:51 - 01:24:15 | Speaker 3:

posts her child no it's not slow down slow down because you are a part of the community i'm assuming of mothers and when you hear something sometimes you don't hear what people say you hear how it made you feel and i want to clarify it's not the fact that she's a mom it's the fact that The only thing that she posts, she's not even in these pictures with her child. It's literally just baby pictures.

01:24:16 - 01:24:19 | Speaker 4:

It's like I'm following a girl with a baby profile in her life.

01:24:19 - 01:24:20 | Speaker 3:

Maybe that's what her life is.

01:24:20 - 01:24:28 | Speaker 2:

That's her pride and joy. Maybe she's a brand new mom, and that's all she does, and it's everything that she loves.

01:24:28 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 3:

And that is beautiful. I just don't want to see a baby profile.

01:24:32 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 2:

Right.

01:24:33 - 01:24:45 | Speaker 3:

That's all I'm saying. Like, if I only post... So, for example, you wanted to put a face with the name, which is why you followed everybody. If you follow me and all I show were pictures of my Jeep Grand Cherokee, would that be disappointing to you?

01:24:46 - 01:24:55 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I get it. I just wouldn't care. I would feel like, okay, he likes Jeep. That's who you are. But you would unfollow. You wouldn't continuously follow. I would not unfollow.

01:24:55 - 01:24:57 | Speaker 4:

I would unfollow.

01:24:57 - 01:25:23 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely not. That is wild. I think there are some people that use their social media differently than you do, Kevin and Megan. I think that some people like to, they're not into seeing themselves. They want to see others on there. Maybe they use it to watch others. What if this woman just likes to see you, Kevin, in all your countless basketball pictures with everybody at Pistons games?

01:25:23 - 01:25:49 | Speaker 5:

That's fine. I don't know. And maybe this is a mean problem. I don't understand why sometimes Instagram specifically is used as, like, a public photo album of children. And that, to me, just, like, kind of gives me the heebie-jeebies a little bit. Like, it's one thing if it's your family and there's pictures of you and you and maybe your significant other and then you and your kids. But when it's, like, just a baby, an online baby book is weird to me.

01:25:50 - 01:26:01 | Speaker 4:

I feel like some people do that, though. Like, one, because they're proud, but also because, like, I know it's more specifically Facebook than Instagram, but that's their method of sharing with their family.

01:26:01 - 01:26:02 | Speaker 5:

I get that.

01:26:02 - 01:26:03 | Speaker 4:

So they do it.

01:26:03 - 01:26:05 | Speaker 5:

But aren't you worried to have that on the Internet?

01:26:05 - 01:26:17 | Speaker 4:

Well, and also, I would hope that every parent is careful about what they post. Yeah. I mean, even myself, I've had I've looked back at my Instagram and deleted some things that I thought in the moment were like cool to post.

01:26:17 - 01:26:29 | Speaker 2:

But I also think that some people, I think people when they're on social media, they don't, maybe they don't feel as comfortable just showing them where this is their pride and joy that they're showing is their children.

01:26:29 - 01:26:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, and in Kev's girl's case, it is a private profile. So she's probably, she's hopefully, again, very careful about who she's accepting to share those photos with of her kid.

01:26:40 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 5:

Which I think is very fair. but I think a lot of times when we're talking about how we grew up and a lot of people say, I'm so glad that I didn't grow up on the internet or social media wasn't really a thing when I was a teenager or whatever. Um, then I'm of the generation of like, I was the first teen to be on it. Right. I was the first teens on Facebook and my space and all that. And we were kind of experimental and now, but we like chose to be on it. And now I feel like we're forcing kids to be on it before they're choosing to be online. And I don't think this is like a great cycle to be on.

01:27:08 - 01:27:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but nobody knows the kid's name. They know the mom's name. It's not like she's giving out so much personal stuff. I think people don't use social media like we use social media, showing off our stuff. People use it to show off what makes them happy.

01:27:22 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 5:

That's super fair.

01:27:23 - 01:27:24 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Ashton? What are your thoughts?

01:27:26 - 01:27:29 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up? First time, long time. Yeah.

01:27:30 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 2:

Ashton on the phone.

01:27:33 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 3:

And I agree with Kevin, man. But I also agree with Megan on quite a few things as well. You know, from Kevin's point of view, you know, when he follows somebody, he wants to, you know, see what's going on with them and how they look and, you know, what possibly they're into, you know, and where kind of their interests align and things like that. And then, you know, on Megan's perspective, because I'm a new dad, you know the soon to be dad um and thank you thank you and I I just I don't know how I really feel about like posting my daughter like constantly all all the time because like there's there's just so many weird things that could that could just happen by somebody just seeing their face yeah

01:28:27 - 01:28:35 | Speaker 5:

and I'll fully say that I'm giving this from the perspective of the only person here who doesn't have kids so like I don't have to make those choices I don't know what that decision process

01:28:35 - 01:29:19 | Speaker 3:

is like it the internet just stresses me out yeah no and I I totally understand you on that I'm I'm kind of from the same point that that you're coming from is I grew up whenever like everything was kind of coming into fruition and and the internet was was really coming into being what it is now and not that like we were forced on it or anything but it it's more of a decision to kind of like stay away from those things because it's not that it's a it's always a dangerous place there's really good things out of it like in kevin's point of view you know he's meeting new people and he's finding you know a possible relationship and but there's that other side

01:29:19 - 01:29:26 | Speaker 2:

that's just crazy and oh my god yeah thank you for the call ashton uh valerie what's up it's

01:29:26 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 1:

mojo in the morning hi this is valerie i agree with kevin kevin but you gotta remember you got all these women around in your studio you gotta think like a man a man don't want to see all your baby pictures he's not there to see your family he's there to see what you look like dropper you know wow and also another thing is is being truthful rude that drives me crazy I better have a rude friend who tells me that I look like crap in that outfit than just

01:30:00 - 01:30:26 | Speaker 3:

say oh you look good what are you talking about i want to what are you talking about wait what was that last comment she's mad at you about a comment i've said rude if you canceled her because of a kid no he's being truthful he don't want to you don't want to see the kid what is it wrong be truthful when did truthful become being rude oh a long time ago yeah okay um i don't know that

01:30:26 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 5:

i used the word rude if i did that was probably the wrong word i just said it would be it would be it would send a certain message to her about kev's interest if he followed her and then 24

01:30:37 - 01:30:57 | Speaker 1:

hours later unfollowed her and i also think then talked about it on the radio and did it for a 10 minute topic uh that might be a little bit on rude too but that's okay she's if she listening right now what's her what's her name what's her uh i'm gonna follow her baby i want to see what her. Bree, what's going on, Bree?

01:30:58 - 01:30:59 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning.

01:30:59 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 1:

What's happening? How are you? We're doing good. What's going on?

01:31:03 - 01:31:15 | Speaker 4:

I was just saying, everybody was misunderstanding Kev. It wasn't that she was posting her child. It was that that was the only thing that she was posting. We wanted to see some pictures of

01:31:15 - 01:31:19 | Speaker 1:

her. There we go. Where are her near-topless

01:31:19 - 01:31:22 | Speaker 4:

photos? Exactly. She goes, exactly.

01:31:22 - 01:31:30 | Speaker 1:

Maybe a breastfeeding photo of her with a child. There we go. Then we're all good. Thank you.

01:31:30 - 01:31:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, what happened? You went out on a few dates, had bags giving, and now you're getting ghosted? No, no, please don't. Oh, God. What happened? The second date update happens at 820 on Mojo in the morning.

01:31:43 - 01:31:53 | Speaker 1:

Hey, real quick, I want to wish a happy birthday to my buddy, Louie Yaldo. Louie, who is the owner of the Brass Mug in Livonia. He's the guy that came in and stocked our bar up for us.

01:31:53 - 01:31:55 | Speaker 2:

Oh, he was so nice. Happy birthday.

01:31:55 - 01:31:57 | Speaker 1:

Celebrated his 50th birthday.

01:31:57 - 01:31:59 | Speaker 2:

Wow. Oh, that's a big one.

01:31:59 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 1:

That was a great one. And last night, I felt bad. I had to miss his party, but I was there in FaceTime because I got FaceTimed by Brian Reif, who was over there with a whole bunch of other guys. Actually, a bunch of everybody, family, everybody. The place was packed last night for his party. I got to tell you guys a funny story. um so we all know brian here on this radio show brian reef from planet fitness we love planet fitness and we love brian so uh recently brian stayed with chelsea and i um i invited brian to come and hang out with us and and i said hey you know what why don't you stay over we'll have well you know kind of get together and stuff and have some fun um and it was interesting because i had never known that Chelsea has not never or has only met Brian in passing didn't know Brian very well and it lends to this next topic there's a stranger in my house because I also didn't tell Chelsea ahead of time that Brian was going to come and he was going to come over and then stay over with us and I asked this question of our listeners here right now can you invite somebody to stay at your house that your spouse and or roommates don't even know who they are. Because it started bringing some memories to me of when I was a kid. And I remember saying, you know, hey, mom, you know, could I have so and so come over to the house or can so and so sleep over? My mom would never let somebody come over to the house or sleep over unless she knew them or knew their family. Like it was never one of those things where a complete stranger kid from down the street is next thing you know sleeping at our house right yeah well so that was what it felt like when brian came and stayed at our place it was kind of wild for chelsea i actually said to her at one point i did not realize that i thought chelsea because brian's been a friend and been a client of the radio station now for 10 plus years and a really good friend for that many i thought that chelsea had a lot of interaction with him but chelsea doesn't come to a lot of our stuff no you know so so but it was interesting because we're just sitting there on the couch and I'm looking at Chelsea going she really doesn't even know this guy and then after the the couple of days that he was with us she was loving it just thought it was great my question like if this

01:34:16 - 01:34:25 | Speaker 5:

happened in our house to West would be what if I absolutely like what's the

01:34:25 - 01:34:35 | Speaker 1:

plan like if Wes all of a sudden said hey Shannon my bestest buddy from like middle school is coming to stay with us for a week would you feel like I really

01:34:35 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 5:

don't even know who this guy is, right? It would make me uneasy. I would trust that the person was cool because, you know, they're associated with Wes. They're Wes's friend. But I mean, I met his very, very, very best friend from growing up for the first time this past Christmas when we went to Canada. And so I understand that that could be a possibility. And what if I hated this guy?

01:35:00 - 01:36:13 | Speaker 4:

loved him Chelsea one of the things that Chelsea thought that was so good first off he's clean as hell the guy is like unbelievable you know what I mean like you've met Ryan cleans up after himself you wouldn't know he's there he's amazing first off he was amazing he's like the best house guest in the world and and was you know it was always was always like bringing something to it to it like we went out uh for lunch like he paid for lunch because he was staying with us and then we went to afterwards we're like hey what kind of drinks should we get he went to the liquor store with us and we're at the you know the store buying stuff and he's like no no no i'm buying this and he turned chelsea chelsea loved him because he's a tequila drinker too so he likes tequila but um this is another question that i have to ask remember when you were a kid and you were gonna have somebody come over to your house like after school or whatever you always had to ask your mom or dad permission hey can so and so come over after school as a grown-ass adult who lives in a in a home if you have your significant other or whoever that lives with you should you have to say to them hey are you cool with me inviting so and so over because chelsea was telling me i never tell her that people are coming over like randomly she'll just be sitting on the couch and people

01:36:13 - 01:36:31 | Speaker 7:

just randomly come that would drive me crazy because i'm the type and i don't know if chelsea this way one i just want to know but two i also want to make sure that at least all the crap is put somewhere and we don't look like slobs when somebody pops by yeah well i'll say to chelsea

01:36:31 - 01:36:36 | Speaker 4:

hey i might have a friend or two coming over and she's like what like but it's like okay they'll

01:36:36 - 01:36:44 | Speaker 6:

be here in about 10 minutes no i have to be mentally prepared there has to be the right snacks i have to light the candle far enough advance for the place actually smells good when

01:36:44 - 01:37:14 | Speaker 5:

they show up there is prep work i think it's disrespectful yeah to be honest to be honest with you when when shirelle and i used to live together this was like one of the points in our relationship i had to talk to her several times like you would walk into the house and it and these people these were people i knew but it's just like you still have to be prepared yeah at least throw me a heads up bruh and sometimes i get under like i never wanted to be like this is my house too like obviously this is your house you have to run everything by me but if somebody's going to be in there, throw me a heads up.

01:37:14 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 6:

Could you imagine just walking over to your friend's house and walking in with people? Like, you wouldn't do that because that's their space. This is your shared space as a couple.

01:37:23 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 4:

When we grew up, we had so many people in our house because I was the one of six kids.

01:37:27 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 6:

That's true.

01:37:28 - 01:37:50 | Speaker 4:

We had so many people in our house, randos would come to dinner all the time. My dad one time literally looked at, we had a huge kitchen table. Like, my dad actually made the kitchen table for us and it was like this big giant one with, like, big old stools and stuff on there. And there would be, like, some guy sitting at the end of the table, and my dad would go, hey, stranger, pass the potatoes. I'd be like, who are you? What's up, Paul? How you doing?

01:37:52 - 01:37:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing good, y'all. This is my first time in a long time. Hey!

01:37:56 - 01:38:02 | Speaker 4:

I like the way Paul did that. That was actually kind of cool how you introduced yourself. What's going on?

01:38:03 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 3:

So in terms of what you were talking about, you know, inviting somebody over, For me and our dynamic with me and my fiance, I can absolutely invite people over that she doesn't know, and she'll be cool with it. Of course, I respect her enough and care about her enough. I'll definitely give her a heads up that, hey, so-and-so is coming over, but it does not work both ways. It absolutely doesn't. I think as the man of the house, the last thing that I want to do is meet another man. I mean, it's okay if it's a girl, but the last thing I want to do is meet another man in my home. Like, that is not where the first impression happens.

01:38:46 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 4:

Which, same with me. Like, I don't think I would ever invite another woman to come stay with us, you know, or it would feel weird if Chelsea invited another dude to come stay with us that I didn't know, you know?

01:38:56 - 01:39:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Yeah, and I wouldn't do another girl neither. I don't see why I would ever invite a girl over that my girl doesn't know. That might be bad.

01:39:03 - 01:39:11 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know if there are any other girls that my girl doesn't know. You know what I mean? Like, I feel like that's the one you got introduced right away. What's up, Jen? Hi.

01:39:13 - 01:39:22 | Speaker 1:

You would be in the doghouse so hard for telling me 10 minutes before somebody comes over. I hate when people show up unannounced or I short notice.

01:39:23 - 01:39:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, Chels hates that when I do it.

01:39:24 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 1:

This is so mad.

01:39:26 - 01:39:39 | Speaker 4:

I'm really bad. You know what my thing is? I don't tell her right away because I'm afraid that she'll say no. You know what I mean? Like, it's almost ask for forgiveness, not permission. Hey, Kyla, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi.

01:39:41 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. So, my exit is that, like, I would come downstairs, and I'll be in a T-shirt, and he would have a group of friends just sitting on the couch. Crazy. Yeah. And I'm like, you could have worn me. I could have put some clothes on. Right.

01:39:57 - 01:40:00 | Speaker 4:

What did the friends do when you were walking down with just...

01:40:00 - 01:40:05 | Speaker 6:

the t-shirt on um half of them were already like trying to talk to me behind his back so it was

01:40:05 - 01:40:10 | Speaker 3:

already awkward whoa wait a second now this is where the spin comes in here these guys were

01:40:10 - 01:40:22 | Speaker 6:

flirting with you huh yeah they a couple of them dm me i showed him oh my god he was like oh they're just playing they're just playing wow yeah you know what you should have done you should have

01:40:22 - 01:40:26 | Speaker 3:

unexpectedly invited them over when he wasn't there and have him catch you with them

01:40:26 - 01:40:30 | Speaker 6:

that's actually a good idea

01:40:30 - 01:40:34 | Speaker 3:

with just a t-shirt on let's see what they do what's up Amy

01:40:34 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 5:

hi Mojo

01:40:37 - 01:40:38 | Speaker 3:

hi what's up Amy

01:40:38 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 5:

I am on your side with the whole unannounced friends coming over

01:40:43 - 01:40:48 | Speaker 3:

thank you Amy I was waiting I was going through all these calls to try to find your call what's going on

01:40:48 - 01:41:06 | Speaker 5:

no one's going to reflect on if you have friends coming over no one's going to remember what your house looks like you're focusing on the wrong thing it's about the time you're spending with your friends and they're not going to be like oh my god you have toys or papers on the counter you know you are so right i need to remember that more

01:41:06 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 3:

you are you're right and honestly seriously our house is always looking great chelsea always make you know everything looks wonderful like she she's a neat freak when it comes to that stuff and i think that's the beauty of our family and our house is that we love having people over like but um will you call chelsea and tell her all that

01:41:24 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 5:

absolutely no i understand the aspect of you know kids when you have younger kids and i'm coming at this a little bit differently now my kids are a little more grown there's no toys sprung around the house and everything but looking back i wish i hadn't focused on that so much and you know embrace like having those friends come over because guess what things happen and tomorrow's not problem. Life is short. Oh, don't say that.

01:41:51 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 3:

No, it's true. Don't. And also, honestly, your kids are only small for some time. Like, you know, enjoy those moments. DJ, what's up? This is the craziest one. DJ.

01:42:02 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 1:

Dude, I was so happy to tell you. So my homeboy, Josh, he invited me over to his house one summer to come and help him work on his car and his garage, and he forgot to tell his wife that I was coming because she's a huge knee freak, but apparently only when company's coming over. And I get there, I knock on the door. Instead of just texting him and telling him that I was there, I made the mistake of knocking on the door. She opens the door, completely unaware that I was coming. She screamed, slammed the door shut, and told me I had to wait until she was done straightening up the house.

01:42:32 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. That is great.

01:42:34 - 01:42:43 | Speaker 1:

And you can hear her just rummaging through stuff, barreling through the house, while simultaneously yelling at him for not telling her. Oh, no.

01:42:43 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's priceless. What a great moment. And then, Shiloh, this is funny. Shiloh.

01:42:52 - 01:43:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so, like, my thing is, listen, I'm walking around the house. I got my coochie out, okay? Oh, yes, I love you. You can't invite people over. You can't just have people just come over.

01:43:03 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 4:

Right.

01:43:04 - 01:43:13 | Speaker 6:

That's right. Where's your coochie hanging out? It's her house. And it's her coochie. It's my partner and his best friend. Dude, what the hell?

01:43:13 - 01:43:17 | Speaker 3:

man i gotta tell you something if chelsea had her coochie just hanging out i wouldn't invite

01:43:17 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 6:

anybody over i'd be enjoying it myself it's like a scenario where like you know i'm at home for the day i'm chilling he's getting off from work coming off from school and you know he's like all right you know cat's coming over with me and i don't know this and i'm coming out you know going to Go get me a smoothie, and it's another dude that's not mine in my living room. Get out of my house.

01:43:43 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 3:

You're just trying to enjoy a free coochie and a smoothie, you know?

01:43:47 - 01:43:59 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Add Mojo in the morning to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss War of the Roses. The second date update. M-I-D-A-Hole. Or the throwback throwdown.

01:43:59 - 01:44:03 | Speaker 3:

Not getting a call back after a date. Text date to 95500.

01:44:03 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 2:

zero it's the second date update on mojo in the morning we're gonna do second date update right

01:44:09 - 01:44:21 | Speaker 3:

now find out what's going on and why you're getting ghosted xavier's getting ghosted after he thought he put like the best foot forward what's going on xavier how you doing hey guys

01:44:21 - 01:44:28 | Speaker 6:

uh yeah i i'm trying to figure out why i'm not getting the call back you know what's funny is

01:44:28 - 01:44:44 | Speaker 3:

when we have people do second date update here on the show we have them submit an entry and sometimes people will also like yourself send a picture and stuff you seem like a nice looking guy xavier well i don't understand why any girl would not call you back well first of all thank

01:44:44 - 01:44:51 | Speaker 6:

you uh um i hope she felt the same way uh i thought she was nice looking what do you guys

01:44:51 - 01:44:56 | Speaker 3:

do okay go ahead jenny i just want to know what they did for what did you do for your date

01:44:56 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 5:

We just kept it simple. We went out to dinner.

01:45:00 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 4:

We had a couple drinks. Okay. Yeah, then afterwards we went, we actually went and met some of my friends at a different bar afterwards. Okay. Oh, fine. Yeah.

01:45:11 - 01:45:20 | Speaker 2:

So it was like a big thing. You guys hung out for a good period of time. Brianna's on the phone with us right now. Brianna, will you say hello to Xavier? Hey.

01:45:21 - 01:45:23 | Speaker 4:

Hey. Hi.

01:45:23 - 01:46:12 | Speaker 3:

How's it going? Okay, this is awkward. Look, I thought you were great. You actually were, like, checking all of the boxes of what I was looking for. You opened doors, paid the bill, gave me flowers. Like, it was great. But then when we went to the bar after and you were with your friends, you were, like, a completely different dude. You kept saying to your friends, oh, yeah, this is my friend. You wouldn't touch me. you didn't flirt like it was the weirdest thing and then you were sitting there talking to other girls and you wouldn't introduce me to them wait a second so weird but hold on you went from like

01:46:12 - 01:46:24 | Speaker 2:

zero to a thousand so real quick so he was great everything was wonderful except yeah he was different when he was around his friends you're saying yeah it was completely different like he

01:46:24 - 01:46:30 | Speaker 3:

didn't even like he kept saying this is my friend this is my friend meaning me what do you think he

01:46:30 - 01:46:35 | Speaker 2:

should have called you what you guys have only gone out on one date yeah but that like call me

01:46:35 - 01:46:41 | Speaker 3:

your date don't introduce me like as if i'm a friend and then when you're with other girls you

01:46:41 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 6:

don't introduce me that's weird yeah that's rude that's rude i get that i don't really necessarily get the whole date versus friend thing yeah that's it to me that's just you know i don't know

01:46:53 - 01:46:58 | Speaker 3:

that's just a name i don't know like i wouldn't know yeah but it made me feel uncomfortable

01:46:58 - 01:47:13 | Speaker 2:

if i if i'm out with somebody out on a date sometimes i almost feel like it's embarrassing for them if i'm saying hey i'm hanging out with all my friends and here's this person who's my date like i'd rather just say make it feel like you were just part of the friendship group so

01:47:13 - 01:47:30 | Speaker 4:

yeah that's exactly my thinking man like it it's kind of an awkward situation to be with people you know and then somebody you don't know so i don't keep being like my date date and my date is data you know yeah and the girls were my girlfriends right nothing romantic between

01:47:30 - 01:48:03 | Speaker 3:

why didn't you introduce me i feel weird why wouldn't you introduce me like it was they were stunning by the way and i mean i think i'm pretty but like that's really intimidating yeah that oh my date meaning you know oh my friend i guess i'm sitting with other people that i don't even know and there you are sitting with three gorgeous women not introducing me that's not like you went from a complete you were completely different guy xavier why did you not introduce her to the

01:48:03 - 01:48:30 | Speaker 4:

girls thank you yeah like it's probably first of all my girl my my female friends are like um way too interested in my my dates as far as like is she the one that sort of thing so I think that's part of it I kind of didn't want them grilling her and and then it's just I mean I guess it's I see I see where she's coming from probably nerves on my part to kind of have to

01:48:30 - 01:48:36 | Speaker 5:

I appreciate you admitting that you that you look back now and you should have

01:48:36 - 01:48:41 | Speaker 2:

done it differently. Brianna does not seem Shannon like the type of girl that needs to actually have anybody stick up

01:48:41 - 01:48:53 | Speaker 5:

for her like no no no i agree with you i agree with you but i i would feel weird if i wasn't introduced i kev you said she said it's an insecurity no just just just the doubling

01:48:53 - 01:49:04 | Speaker 1:

down on how gorgeous they are and oh my god they look so beautiful just that part was the reason why that uh i did not take that that way of her being mad that he didn't introduce her

01:49:04 - 01:49:17 | Speaker 6:

no i think it's just weird that you introduced me to the guys and not the girls like you're almost embarrassed to have me around your girlfriends like they're gonna judge you for me that would have made me super uncomfortable i totally get that xavier have you dated any of

01:49:17 - 01:49:51 | Speaker 2:

the girls that are part of this group never okay because that was maybe one of them was a former girlfriend i i want to just kind of put this all together and then you guys can comment uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 um if the guy was great everything was good except for this one time I still don't understand why you just didn't call him and talk to him. The other thing, too, is, Brianna, you are very forceful in how you are sticking up for yourself. I would think that if that was how you felt that night, you would have just said, yeah, hey, hi, let me introduce myself to you.

01:49:51 - 01:50:00 | Speaker 5:

I do that, and I am the worst at introducing Wes to people. And it's obviously I'm not embarrassed of him. It's just I am so...

01:50:00 - 01:50:06 | Speaker 9:

terrible about that um and he will introduce himself and then honestly it makes me look really

01:50:06 - 01:50:14 | Speaker 3:

bad because i'm like oh yeah i forgot you were standing right there a lot of times i forget people's names and this is how i do it yeah jordan what's up it's mojo on the morning second date

01:50:14 - 01:50:29 | Speaker 4:

update so i agree with everything that mojo just said but my thing and he only said it really fast he even knows meeting new people and doctors so why did they even go meet his friends that's a

01:50:29 - 01:50:32 | Speaker 3:

good point. Xavier, why would you take her out to meet friends?

01:50:33 - 01:50:39 | Speaker 6:

You know, they all had plans and we were nearby and I was going to go there anyway, so I was like,

01:50:39 - 01:50:42 | Speaker 9:

keep the date going. I like that. I don't mind that.

01:50:43 - 01:50:45 | Speaker 3:

Courtney, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update.

01:50:47 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 8:

Hi, I am curious on why his girlfriends, who should have his best interests, aren't like, leave us and go talk to your date. You shouldn't be with us right now. You should be with her. yeah thank you yes that's how i felt too like where is the solidarity with women being like hey like it just was and that made me feel like these are people that i don't want to hang out

01:51:12 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 3:

with yeah i i understand i would be like go be with her leave uh jessica your thoughts on uh the date that happened between xavier and brianna what do you think

01:51:26 - 01:52:46 | Speaker 7:

hi jess oh hi how are you um i think that maybe she from experience with friends and personal experiences i think maybe he was giving her that feeling that he was trying to keep her a secret like they weren't in any more of a relationship than friendship so his friends and all these other ladies would not get the impression that he is spoken for on this time out because i i heard you guys talking about like yes let's keep the date going which is great but if you're gonna keep your date going why wouldn't you be like hey this is my date like i i mean not specifically keep calling her a date but when you show up you're like hey we were out on a date we thought we'd come hang out with you guys and everybody usually knows especially if they're your girlfriend And your friends and your friends, everybody can get that vibe that that's your date. You don't even really have to, you don't even really have to announce it because they get the vibe from it, from you guys being together. So I'm thinking that she was feeling he was keeping her out on purpose. Yeah. Or embarrassed or didn't want to be with her that way in front of his friends.

01:52:47 - 01:53:07 | Speaker 3:

And a lot of people, by the way, a lot of the texters are saying the same thing that you're saying. And so, Xavier, you're learning from this that a lot of times bringing her or any date, if it's not going to be Brianna again, around your friendship base is probably not the greatest thing to do if you're going to be spending time with other people.

01:53:07 - 01:53:31 | Speaker 5:

I see that. And to be honest, it was it was the exact opposite. Like everybody knew I was on this date. Everybody knew I was bringing the date. Why didn't you do that? I think the nerves like I didn't want everybody. observing our interactions? How are they getting along? So I kind of went the opposite direction, which was not the right thing to do.

01:53:32 - 01:53:41 | Speaker 3:

All right. Well, now you've learned, Xavier. And by the way, it sounds like you got hot friends. Let's hang out with your hot friends sometime, okay?

01:53:41 - 01:53:42 | Speaker 1:

Sure, man. Come along.

01:53:43 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 3:

Good luck, bud.

01:53:45 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:53:56 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 3:

We'll get you caught up on what's trending right now on the Dirty on the 30. We'll grab the winner for the Wings Stadium Series against the Columbus Blue Jackets tickets and 21 Pilots right now while Shannon's talking. What's going on, Shannon?

01:54:08 - 01:54:33 | Speaker 9:

A little bit of Drake Dirty to start off this hour. Drake has canceled his remaining Australia and New Zealand tour dates due to, I'm going to do an air quote here, scheduling conflicts. A rep says they are working on rescheduling those shows, but a lot of people have a lot of thoughts about maybe ticket sales. No. Being the reason. Did J-Lo reschedule? Did Shawn Mendes reschedule?

01:54:34 - 01:54:35 | Speaker 2:

We're not going to do that, guys.

01:54:35 - 01:54:38 | Speaker 9:

Okay. I'm just asking questions.

01:54:38 - 01:54:58 | Speaker 2:

I will provide answers because when we first talked about this in an initial dirty, I mentioned that Drake is headlining Wireless Fest. Tickets sold out reportedly in only a few minutes for three dates. And Megan, you asked the question of who else was there because surely Drake couldn't do all of this on his own. The first night.

01:54:58 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 7:

I said, is it a festival with other artists?

01:55:01 - 01:55:05 | Speaker 3:

And I said, yeah. You said, who are the other? My bad. I thought you were implying that there had to be someone else.

01:55:05 - 01:55:11 | Speaker 1:

No, but festivals generally have all different sorts of acts so that you sell to different markets.

01:55:11 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 3:

We know what you meant. You did insinuate that he wasn't going to be able to sell.

01:55:15 - 01:55:18 | Speaker 1:

I absolutely did because festivals are not comparable to concerts.

01:55:19 - 01:55:41 | Speaker 3:

Right. But I was saying, you try to defend it like you didn't insinuate it. But regardless, Drake party next door, Summer Walker. Clearly Drake's the biggest artist there. The second night, it's a guy named Mandem. Not sure who that is. And then the third night is Vibes Cartel, who's a super huge reggae artist and more popular in Jamaica than anywhere else. And then Burna Boy, who's a world artist. So Drake's doing his thing. I don't think it's ticket sales.

01:55:42 - 01:55:52 | Speaker 4:

Real quick, I'm trying to find, does JLB not play Drake at all? Because there's no Drake new music in our system here, unless we don't share a system with those guys anymore.

01:55:52 - 01:55:56 | Speaker 3:

Man, he got two bangers right now. Nokia going crazy. Let me play.

01:55:56 - 01:55:59 | Speaker 2:

He's got one that's, I saw number six this morning on the Billboard chart.

01:56:00 - 01:56:04 | Speaker 3:

Give me a hug. That's the one. Who's calling it? There's no kids. Who's calling it?

01:56:05 - 01:56:06 | Unknown:

Who's calling it?

01:56:07 - 01:56:08 | Speaker 3:

Who's calling it?

01:56:09 - 01:56:13 | Unknown:

Who? Who? Who? Yeah.

01:56:14 - 01:56:17 | Speaker 3:

Give me a hug. That's number six. Yeah, that's the banger right there.

01:56:17 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh. Oh, and he's got number 10.

01:56:22 - 01:56:23 | Unknown:

Okay.

01:56:23 - 01:56:24 | Speaker 4:

I like this.

01:56:24 - 01:56:26 | Speaker 3:

I like this one. This is Summer Vaughn.

01:56:26 - 01:56:27 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:56:30 - 01:56:34 | Speaker 2:

He's got a song called Sand Tower. I kind of like it.

01:56:45 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 5:

That's a head.

01:56:47 - 01:56:49 | Speaker 4:

Call Tony Travato. I want to be in the music meeting today.

01:56:51 - 01:56:54 | Speaker 5:

Will we add this? I like the song.

01:56:54 - 01:56:55 | Speaker 4:

Do we add this?

01:56:55 - 01:56:57 | Speaker 2:

No, I said, will we add it?

01:56:57 - 01:57:06 | Speaker 4:

Tony Travato still trying to decide if he's going to play the seventh Sabrina Carpenter song. All right, that's a good song.

01:57:06 - 01:58:27 | Speaker 2:

In Other Dirty today, Alex Earle's Hot Mess podcast was just dropped by Alex Cooper's Unwell Network amid rumors of a little feud going down between the ladies. I love that when this is posted about on social media, people in the comments are like, wait, they're not the same person? They look like the same. They are not the same person. there. Two different people, two different Alex's. Alex spelled two different ways. But yesterday, the caller daddy hosts media company gave up the rights to Hot Mess, leaving her free to explore other opportunities. I know Sirius going to halt the sale of ads for the podcast from this point forward. The most recent episode of Hot Mess just dropped last week. So this is all very fresh. And while the Alex's haven't personally spoken out about this business shakeup, Alex Earl reportedly opted out of attending Alex Cooper's Super Bowl party in New Orleans earlier this month. They both were in Louisiana at the time, so everybody kind of knew that something was going out. Also, eagle-eyed fans also pointing out on Reddit that the Unwell Network hasn't been promoting hot mess on their socials for quite some time now. Millie Bobby Brown addressing the rumors about her potentially playing Britney Spears in a biopic. She is newly blunt. She expressed interest in the role several times yesterday she spoke with access hollywood about

01:58:27 - 01:58:42 | Speaker 1:

the possibility of playing britney i am you know in full support um of her bringing her story to life how she wants to how she wants to absolutely i mean i would not want that you know i would want somebody bringing it to life in the most beautiful way so i can you know i i would always

01:58:42 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 2:

be open to something and a couple of stories about eggs to end the dirty if you are a denny's fan And Denny's joining Waffle House by, yes, adding a surcharge to its egg menu items because of the skyrocketing egg prices. So there is going to be an extra fee.

01:59:01 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 4:

When is the last time anybody's eaten at a Denny's?

01:59:03 - 01:59:05 | Speaker 2:

I don't know. I'm just telling you.

01:59:05 - 01:59:06 | Speaker 4:

They got a lot of eggs there.

01:59:06 - 01:59:18 | Speaker 2:

Now, McDonald's is saying they are not raising the price on any of their egg menu items. So everything is as it stands right now at Mickey D's.

01:59:18 - 01:59:26 | Speaker 4:

I can't tell you the last time I'd driven by a Denny's and saw cars in the parking lot. I will tell you. I'm sorry.

01:59:26 - 01:59:30 | Speaker 2:

That's probably why they might need to have a surcharge. I will tell you this.

01:59:31 - 01:59:43 | Speaker 4:

Do what I do. Eat fake eggs and go and get the Starbucks egg bites. Because I don't think they're real eggs in those Starbucks egg bites. If they don't change the price on those, then you know there's no real egg in that thing.

01:59:44 - 01:59:47 | Speaker 1:

No, I think they were already just overcharging.

01:59:47 - 01:59:51 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know. Those guys are always looking for a way to make a buck or something.

01:59:51 - 01:59:57 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. All right, for all of today's 30, catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.

01:59:57 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 4:

The best is our—oh, what are you doing?

02:00:00 - 02:00:26 | Speaker 3:

You don't touch my job, Zach. I'll bite those fingers right off your go to the knuckle. Tony Travato, our group text is so great here because Tony got called out on the radio and he was listening about that Nokia song. So he says that that has been added. Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, and 92.5 KISS FM have just added Nokia from Drake. See that? A little public pressure, Kevin. That's all we got to do.

02:00:26 - 02:00:32 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Missed something in the Dirty on the 30? Listen on our podcast now at MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:00:34 - 02:00:48 | Speaker 3:

Congratulations. Huge congratulations to Zach. What's his nickname? Big Zach, not the little one. Big Zach, not the little one, and his bowling team on a big victory.

02:00:49 - 02:00:55 | Speaker 4:

Did you guys win last night? Hit another sound drop. I know, I know. I saw that on social media.

02:00:55 - 02:01:08 | Speaker 2:

So the Mojo team is in first place right now. We're 40 games in, only nine losses. So we're killing it, and I can't be more proud. Let's go.

02:01:09 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 3:

Zach, I was looking at that picture. First off, it brought back so many memories because I saw Don there. Oh, yeah. Don. Don, I love Don. I still, by the way, don't even know if I know Don's last name. Kovieski. What is it?

02:01:23 - 02:01:25 | Speaker 5:

Kovieski. Yeah, yeah, that is for anything, isn't it?

02:01:25 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 3:

I called him Don Kowalski for the longest time. And we would have people that would call the sales department looking for Donna. But, yeah, I called Don Kowalski. They would call the station. They'd be like, we don't have a Don Kowalski that's here. But I saw him in that picture, so it was cool to see him. Flumdog Millionaire, yeah. Flumdog Millionaire. We got to tell, we love Brendan so much. Brendan, I talked to him the other night. I love that kid. So what a team you got there, huh?

02:01:53 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 2:

Dude, we are, we're killing it, and we're, I don't know, it's just, I'm super happy. Also, and Tom. There we go. Who's in finance. Tom. Shout out to Tom. Tom and Donna are captains. They're just bowling strikes after another. It's great. Love it.

02:02:08 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 3:

You know what's funny is we see these people every single day, and I never in a million years would ever guess that some people are athletically inclined, although I don't think you have to be, do you, to be a bowler?

02:02:18 - 02:02:19 | Speaker 2:

Is bowling athletic?

02:02:19 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 3:

No, no.

02:02:20 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 2:

I think they're athletes. You know what? I sweat a little bit, so I'm going to say yes.

02:02:24 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 5:

Is it a nervous sweat? I love bowling, you guys. I maintain. I want to do a show bowling trip so bad. I know you really want to do show karaoke.

02:02:33 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:02:34 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 5:

We need to get both on the calendar.

02:02:35 - 02:02:48 | Speaker 4:

Listen, I'm talking a lot of smack. I am the worst bowler in the whole world. I'm not good either. I'm so bad at it. It's not funny. I love it. It's so fun. With bumpers, I think the highest I've ever gotten is like 60. That's impossible. No, I'm not kidding you.

02:02:49 - 02:02:50 | Speaker 3:

So where is the bowling at?

02:02:50 - 02:02:55 | Speaker 2:

Where do you guys? It's in Berkeley, so it's Hartfield Lane's in Berkeley.

02:02:55 - 02:03:02 | Speaker 3:

By the Dairy Queen. Yeah, by the Dairy Queen. What kind of smell does that bowling alley have?

02:03:02 - 02:03:12 | Speaker 2:

It's definitely musky a little bit. Musty, musty. Yeah, you could smell the old smoke from years ago a little bit.

02:03:12 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 5:

Dude, I take the kids to, what the heck is it called, Escape in Troy. That's a fun one they got, and then you can do laser tag, You can do arcade games. I like those, yeah. The food is good. Have you seen that?

02:03:22 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 4:

I'm telling you, that place is bumping. Bro, there's a new place. I don't even know what it's called, but the floor is like computer screens, and they'll rotate from green to red, and you have to hit buttons on the wall, and you can't touch

02:03:33 - 02:03:35 | Speaker 5:

the red ones. Bowling is bad.

02:03:35 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 4:

What is that place called? It looks so cool.

02:03:38 - 02:03:49 | Speaker 3:

We did a show, God, more than a decade ago. God, it had to be, what, maybe 13 years ago, at that huge bowling arena that's down river

02:03:49 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 5:

It was in Allen Park. I think it was Thunder Bowl.

02:03:54 - 02:04:08 | Speaker 3:

It was. I think it was something like that. It was wild because it's where they filmed the ESPN series that they had. And it was the biggest bowling alley I've ever seen. It was Thunder Bowl.

02:04:09 - 02:04:10 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Thunder Bowl Lanes on Allen Road.

02:04:11 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 3:

That was such a cool time. God, that was fun. Man, if we go out on a bowling trip, can we please get shirts?

02:04:18 - 02:04:18 | Speaker 5:

Duh.

02:04:18 - 02:04:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, we got to get bowling shirts on fire.

02:04:20 - 02:04:22 | Speaker 5:

My friend is a cricket. We can make all the shirts.

02:04:22 - 02:04:28 | Speaker 3:

Zach, do you have bowling attire? Do you guys wear Mojo in the morning bowling attire?

02:04:28 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 2:

No. Well, we try to get iHeart to sponsor us. No, no, no. No, no. You talk to me. I got you. We'll talk after the show.

02:04:37 - 02:04:39 | Speaker 3:

No, here's the thing. How many people are on this team?

02:04:39 - 02:04:42 | Speaker 4:

Say more than there are. 25. Yep. No.

02:04:43 - 02:04:50 | Speaker 3:

There ain't no bowling team with 25. $250. No, there's only like six or seven of us. This is not like Pop Warner football or something like that.

02:04:50 - 02:04:51 | Speaker 4:

500 each.

02:04:51 - 02:04:56 | Speaker 3:

No. There's what? There's five? How many people? Yeah. Five? I would say six. I'm looking at the picture. I would say six.

02:04:56 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 2:

But there's four per each game. But like.

02:05:00 - 02:05:25 | Speaker 3:

I'm looking at the freaking picture. You're such a liar. No, there's four for each game, but on our team, there are six. All right, so we got to, let's, Lydia, I know you're going to hate this because we're pricing out tickets for, or we're pricing out shirts for Irish off Ionia, which is going to be something. I got those taken care of, though. Thank you. Good. So we got that. We got those. We're going to have to find, this one will be another one. I'll find somebody to sponsor these.

02:05:25 - 02:05:41 | Speaker 5:

There's a place in West Bloomfield called Brody's that just made me, remember that Kanye West shirt that all the celebrity, well, the AI celebrities were wearing, and they dropped off a shirt here. And they said, anything we need help with to contact them. So those are your people.

02:05:41 - 02:05:47 | Speaker 3:

And we have our Mojo store, too. Who's our store? We got to promote. That's Ink Detroit.

02:05:47 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 2:

All proceeds go to Breaking and Unring, by the way.

02:05:49 - 02:05:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so Ink Detroit. Maybe Ink Detroit can put a bowling shirt up there. They would do a cool job.

02:05:54 - 02:06:23 | Speaker 4:

I am ready, bro. I don't appreciate this conversation. And it's not the fact that Zach is getting props and we're supporting him. I love that for you. For two years now, I've been telling my dad how stupid bowling shirts are. And all of you, all of you sitting here going, they're fire. My dad is texting me nonstop right now. I knew that I should have gotten one of those shirts. I knew that I had. I also thank you so much for this because he's been wearing them for years.

02:06:24 - 02:06:33 | Speaker 3:

Guess what there, sunshine? Not only are we going to wear bowling shirts, but in honor of your dad, we're going to get Crocs as Team My Shoes. Let's go.

02:06:33 - 02:06:35 | Speaker 4:

This is an actual nightmare.

02:06:36 - 02:06:50 | Speaker 3:

We're going to be all done up. Could you imagine that? We got to get bags, too, like bowling bags. We got to do a slow motion video when we walk in. Do you have your own bowling ball, Zach? No, I actually borrow Don's. So here's the story.

02:06:50 - 02:06:51 | Speaker 5:

Don would have his own ball.

02:06:51 - 02:07:17 | Speaker 3:

Your next birthday, which I know is a year away, but I'm finding you your own bowling ball. I've got to get a bowling ball for Zach. I want this guy. I want him to walk in there with a bowling ball. Come on. And do you have, like, one of those braces for your hand? No, but, you know, I think that's our next season. I'm getting you the whole garb. Do they have a bowling store in town here? I know we've got that hockey store. What's up, Jennifer? Are you there?

02:07:18 - 02:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning. How are you? Good.

02:07:21 - 02:07:21 | Speaker 3:

I'll drop it off. That's so nice. It's the Zach GoFundMe here right now. I'll take it. I appreciate you. We're going to take care of Zach. Seriously, he's got this bowling team, and he gets so excited about it. Like last night, we were texting away, and he goes, he's like, hey, boss, I'll take care of it after bowling night. That's a true story. Is there any way that Zach could also join somebody else's co-ed bowling team? Like, is there, I'd love to see if there's like a Donna in, you know, in Wyandotte that would like take Zach out and let Zach play on your bowling team.

02:09:21 - 02:09:22 | Speaker 6:

A Sandy from Garden City.

02:09:22 - 02:09:23 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

02:09:23 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 6:

Like, we need all the characters, you know?

02:09:25 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And have like a little bowling night where we all just hang out. I've, you know, the last time I had like a set night where I did stuff, I did like the men's golf league on Thursday nights. It's not as fun to do golf league as it is to do like a bowling league. Like, I feel like that's a total Midwestern thing to do. feel that way like what's different about it i think there's something about being inside of a bowling alley and it's also it's a winter time thing yeah you know you're indoors all right i got a break we'll be right back don't go anywhere how good a liar are you five lies to tell your mom is coming up next on mojo in the morning wkui detroit wsnx muskegon

02:10:00 - 02:10:06 | Speaker 4:

Grand Rapids, WVKS, Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show.

02:10:07 - 02:11:08 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Live. All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. We have tickets to see the weekend coming up here in just moments. So your opportunity to see the weekend, that's about 25 minutes from now. We will give you those tickets. I got a lot of good topics coming up here in just a little bit. I want to get into a couple of things. Number one, Megan wants to call out somebody for the shirt that they were wearing. We will have that for you. And has anybody ever noticed when a person is drunk, they actually are better? If you've ever liked somebody better when they've had alcohol in their system, I want to talk about that because a friend of mine has a little bit of a dilemma as far as dating somebody that, for some reason, is completely different drunk than they are sober. So that's on the way in just moments. All right, Mojo in the morning show. Ooh, we okay?

02:11:08 - 02:11:10 | Speaker 7:

I'm sorry, I just choked, hold on.

02:11:10 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 3:

You all right? Get that woman something to get her, get her.

02:11:14 - 02:11:16 | Speaker 4:

She just ran off the studio.

02:11:16 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 3:

Heimlich, is she going to be, is she okay? Hold on, before we go anywhere, don't, don't, stop, stop. She's running down the hall. Casey's on it I can't I can't continue

02:11:29 - 02:11:38 | Speaker 6:

I was like he walked right past her Here she goes I hate when that happens You choke on nothing I inhaled my spit and I could not get it out

02:11:38 - 02:11:39 | Speaker 7:

I'm sorry

02:11:39 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 3:

By the way could you die doing something like that

02:11:42 - 02:11:49 | Speaker 7:

I think you can That's final destination Did you hear me out there No

02:11:49 - 02:12:02 | Speaker 3:

I always thought to myself that my sister, Pat, told me a story one time, and I don't know if this is a wise tale or not, about a woman, a fat woman who died on a chicken bone.

02:12:02 - 02:12:03 | Speaker 7:

Ugh, a dream.

02:12:04 - 02:12:05 | Speaker 3:

And that was how she died.

02:12:05 - 02:12:07 | Speaker 7:

Megan Mick. What? I'm hungry.

02:12:08 - 02:12:23 | Speaker 3:

The woman ate so much food so fast that she died, and it was literally like a chicken bone, like a wishbone that she died on. A wishbone. Yeah, she choked to death. And I thought to myself, if I die one day, and it ends up being a hot dog that I die on?

02:12:24 - 02:12:34 | Speaker 7:

Dude, dude, did I ever tell you about the time I was like, can you give yourself the Heimlich in my apartment alone? Because I was like, if I die choking on food, the headlines that will run will, ugh.

02:12:34 - 02:12:41 | Speaker 3:

It's the worst feeling in the world. Like, to me, like, if I'm going to die, like, I want to get hit by a car or something. Right.

02:12:42 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 4:

This reminds me of dumb ways to die.

02:12:47 - 02:13:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, that's the worst. And I've said this to Chelsea, that if I die in my sleep, will she just take off my clothes and tell everybody that we actually were doing something with each other at that moment? Because I want to, like, have a good story behind it. I just don't want it to be fat guy falls asleep at night and never wakes up.

02:13:06 - 02:13:12 | Speaker 6:

Didn't Matthew McConaughey's mom or dad die that way? It was one or the other. Am I making that up in my head? I don't want to die.

02:13:12 - 02:13:13 | Speaker 4:

I don't want to die like that.

02:13:13 - 02:13:17 | Speaker 6:

I feel like one of them died because he or she had a heart attack during sex. I swear.

02:13:17 - 02:13:18 | Speaker 3:

I can't be kidding.

02:13:18 - 02:13:19 | Speaker 6:

I couldn't be making that up.

02:13:20 - 02:13:23 | Speaker 3:

But you also don't want to die at the old country buffet, do you?

02:13:24 - 02:13:27 | Speaker 4:

Not on no wishbone. No? Hell no.

02:13:27 - 02:13:34 | Speaker 3:

Now, that's weak. You off the chicken? How would you like to die during all-you-can-eat crab legs at the lodge? You know what I mean?

02:13:34 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 4:

I would want to die, like, game seven, Pistons, at home, K hit a three, we win a championship, and I'm like, let's go, and then my heart gives out. Or something like that.

02:13:46 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Not on no chicken. That would actually, but that's a great story. And if you didn't die during that moment, you just had a heart attack while you were pushing out a poo.

02:13:57 - 02:14:02 | Speaker 5:

Also a very popular way to die. Really? On the potty, yes.

02:14:02 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Like, I don't want that to happen. I don't want to have, I can't have that. That's too stereotypical. What's up, Kelly? How you doing? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:14:13 - 02:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So I just seen a TikTok about Matthew McConaughey, and he said that his dad always wanted to go out baking cookies, and it actually happened. Yeah, okay, I'm not crazy. Yeah, his mom and dad were baking cookies, and then they were wheeling them out because he had a heart attack after. And they put the cover over him, and the mom was like, nope, he wants to be seen how he went out. Like, let that body show. And I just thought that was so funny that you just said that.

02:14:47 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 3:

That's crazy. So do you know if there was a smile on his face? Like, did he have? Oh, face. Like, do you die with it?

02:14:54 - 02:14:58 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm sure there was. I'm sure. His dad was very attractive.

02:14:58 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. Let's not.

02:15:00 - 02:15:13 | Speaker 1:

I'd go morbid with this. This is a great story. If they're going to call that one. Hey, this is Matthew McConaughey. You're waking up with Mojo in the morning. Just keep living. Yes. Just keep living, Dad. Joe, what's up, Joe?

02:15:14 - 02:15:16 | Speaker 3:

Hey, good morning, guys. How are you? Good morning.

02:15:16 - 02:15:17 | Speaker 1:

Fantastic. We're alive.

02:15:18 - 02:15:22 | Speaker 3:

Long time caller. First time talking. Hey. Joe's on the phone.

02:15:22 - 02:15:24 | Speaker 1:

Oh, you got me on that one. Go ahead.

02:15:25 - 02:15:26 | Speaker 3:

Hey, tell me. That works.

02:15:26 - 02:15:28 | Speaker 4:

You can give yourself the Heimlich. That still works.

02:15:28 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 1:

You can give yourself the Heimlich, you said?

02:15:30 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, I had to Google it. I had to watch a YouTube video real quick. I was praying for no ad.

02:15:36 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:15:37 - 02:15:37 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:15:38 - 02:15:42 | Speaker 1:

So what do you do? You bend over a chair and just push in?

02:15:42 - 02:15:44 | Speaker 3:

And then grab that seat and pull it in.

02:15:45 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 1:

Wow. I've given the Heimlich to two people in my life. Really? I literally, I saved Jeff Dollar, who used to work on The Burt Show. I saved him when he was trying to swallow too big of a piece of steak. And then I gave the Heimlich to Ben West, who was a little kid. I gave him the kitty Heimlich. He was swallowing a hot dog. Yeah. I am a hero. You made a difference in two lives. Thank you. I appreciate that. I feel like it. Real quick, Joe, wouldn't it be amazing if when we did a first time, long time, Kev died during the screaming out a person's name? Joe's on the phone. Wait, Kevin, you okay? I hate this topic. Oh, my God.

02:16:31 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 4:

The last radio host that did this topic died the next day. I do not like this topic. I want to move on.

02:16:38 - 02:16:44 | Speaker 1:

RIP Kid Credit. What's going on, Alyssa? Hi, Alyssa.

02:16:45 - 02:16:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:16:47 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 1:

Hi.

02:16:47 - 02:17:01 | Speaker 2:

I just wanted to come on here and say I actually was alone in my house at one point, and I started choking on something, and I had to push the couch out away from the wall to do the Heimlich against the back of the couch.

02:17:02 - 02:17:04 | Speaker 1:

Damn, that's scary. What were you eating?

02:17:06 - 02:17:07 | Speaker 2:

I was eating pizza.

02:17:08 - 02:17:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. After that, was it nothing but yogurt or something afterwards? Like, I wouldn't eat anything solid after that.

02:17:16 - 02:17:19 | Speaker 2:

Mashed potatoes, yogurt, ice cream, anything soft.

02:17:20 - 02:17:23 | Speaker 1:

Can you imagine you die that way? That would suck.

02:17:23 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 2:

A piece of pizza. My son was taking a nap in the other room, and he's only four, so I was terrified.

02:17:29 - 02:17:34 | Speaker 1:

Oh, and that's awful. Wait, real quick. What kind of pizza? Please say Papa Romano's.

02:17:36 - 02:17:38 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm pretty sure it was Little Caesars.

02:17:38 - 02:17:42 | Speaker 1:

Little Caesars. You know what? I eat Little Caesars. I want to die after eating that, too.

02:17:43 - 02:17:50 | Speaker 4:

No, I don't say that. That's not true. No, the garlic and pork. Dude, I had all the Little Caesars. Yeah. That crazy bread?

02:17:51 - 02:17:51 | Speaker 1:

Fat.

02:17:51 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 4:

It's like Little Caesars.

02:17:53 - 02:18:05 | Speaker 1:

Little Caesars pizza is like a McDonald's french fry. You could just leave it in your microwave for about a year, pull it out of there, and it tastes the same. What's going on? How are you doing, Susan?

02:18:06 - 02:18:19 | Speaker 3:

Good morning. Hi. So, back in the day, around 40, I actually did give my husband a heart attack while making a massive double batch of cookies. Oh.

02:18:19 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah, we were baking a lot in those days.

02:18:31 - 02:18:37 | Speaker 3:

And so anyhow, he. Oh, she's talking sex. But she said baking cookies.

02:18:38 - 02:18:45 | Speaker 1:

I'm sorry. You gave him a double batch of cookies.

02:18:47 - 02:19:50 | Speaker 3:

I did. And he had a heart attack. He couldn't handle it. So it was like 1 o'clock in the morning, and he said he didn't feel well, so he went downstairs, and I flipped the TV on. He came back in, and he said his chest hurt, and he fell on the bed. So me thinking, I've got to get him to the hospital. So I was like two miles away from the hospital at the time, fire department in the middle. So I throw him in my car, leave the kids at home sleeping, went by the way of the firehouse, looked at him. He was still good, went to the hospital. He needed three stents in his heart after that baking session. But here's the funniest part. So the doctor comes out after a while, and he's talking to me. He's asking questions, a lot of questions. Like, did he have a physical? I said a month ago. He was healthy as can be. His cholesterol is 111. You know, and I'm going on and on and on. And now the doctor can tell I'm holding my breath because I unconsciously hold my breath. and I don't know why when I'm upset

02:19:50 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 1:

she's going to kill me with the rest of the story

02:19:54 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

so he says so did you get to finish and I just guessed

02:20:00 - 02:20:15 | Speaker 2:

air and i looked at him and he said okay you're breathing again oh wow so he asked yeah so he asked the question but yeah i mean real quick stop for a second sarah sarah was it were you

02:20:15 - 02:20:20 | Speaker 1:

or susan i'm sorry i don't know why i said sarah susan what position were you guys were you guys

02:20:20 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 2:

missionary or what was it she was on top oh we were all over the damn place oh god gonna joke Yeah, and you know, the best, I mean, I don't know, because it went from licking the spoon to, you know, doing the better. Susan! We gotta be done. I know, I love it. Susan! No, no, she's talking about baking cookies.

02:20:41 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 1:

I love her analogy. She was talking about baking cookies. That was good. Susan, she's been too nervous. You guys are dirty. Susan, they're just... Susan, they're just...

02:20:48 - 02:20:49 | Unknown:

Susan, they're just...

02:20:49 - 02:21:06 | Speaker 1:

Them white macadamians over there, Susan, I'll see you. Susan! Oh, my God. I'm going to end on that one. That was a good call. All right. Don't you want to know what Susan looks like? Susan. And she said back in the day.

02:21:06 - 02:21:09 | Speaker 2:

I want Susan in a habit. That's what I want Susan in.

02:21:09 - 02:22:25 | Speaker 1:

What I'm at today? They oatmeal raisin, but they're still cookies. Oh, my God. All right. Mojo in the morning, five lies to tell your mom is a crazy one. This is a first timer ever. We've ever had this happen to us. we had Kyla on with us. And Kyla was amazing. We heard that she had something going on, like where there was a guy that was a family friend that made her husband feel a little uncomfortable, kind of felt like they kind of had a thing. So we were going to use that as our lie to have her call her mom up and tell her mom that she was having a thing with this guy. The problem was after we called mom up and did the whole five lies, the mom hung up on the phone with us before we could jump on and say, hey, this is the Mojo in the Morning Show. We didn't talk to Kyla for nearly two weeks. It was like a week and a half. And we finally got a chance to complete this five lies. So I want you to listen to the five lies, and then I want you to understand that when we finally called mom back after she hung up the phone on us for two weeks kyla let the joke go and didn't say anything to

02:22:25 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 2:

her it's mojo in the morning sweet five lies to tell your mama kyla are you there hi yeah how are

02:22:35 - 02:22:58 | Speaker 1:

you i'm good how are you good kyla gave us a lot of info so that we could do a five lies so you're married woman i am but you actually have a childhood friend that you openly say has feelings for you yes oh boy does your husband know that yes oh and is he okay with that or does he try

02:22:58 - 02:23:09 | Speaker 2:

to make sure this guy doesn't ever get around you uh you could say the second option for sure but i respect him enough that you know i'll keep him as a good friend and he knows that

02:23:09 - 02:23:15 | Speaker 1:

Oh, wait, you're still even friends with him? I just keep my distance. Yeah. Your husband doesn't say, hey, stay the hell away from him.

02:23:16 - 02:23:39 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't feel comfortable hanging out with me alone, which is perfectly fine. Yeah. I have tried suggesting to hang out with him so Dallas could at least get to know him. And, like, they can meet and have, like, a mutual don't f*** you, or sorry, don't mess with her scenario. Yeah. And it's just, no. So Dallas is your husband. David is the friend that's in love with you. Yes.

02:23:39 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 1:

All right, we're going to do these lies. Listen for these lies here from Kyla. We're going to call her mom up, and we're going to do lie number one. You're going to say that this childhood friend, David is his name, stopped by the tobacco shop. I understand you work at a tobacco shop.

02:23:56 - 02:23:56 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:23:57 - 02:23:58 | Speaker 1:

All right, lie number two.

02:23:58 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 2:

Say, he looks so good now.

02:24:01 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 1:

Lie number three. Say, I felt something different when I saw him. Lie number four.

02:24:08 - 02:24:11 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to hang out with him, but you cannot tell my husband, Alice.

02:24:12 - 02:24:12 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:24:12 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 1:

And lie number five, if he's better in bed, I might keep him around.

02:24:18 - 02:24:20 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:24:20 - 02:24:29 | Speaker 1:

Do you ever talk to your mom about who's better in bed at all? Or do you even know if this guy, you've never had sex with this guy, have you?

02:24:29 - 02:24:42 | Speaker 2:

I've never, never touched him unless it was like a normal friendly hug that I give. But other than that, we've never done anything. and my mom, she's like, she knows, knows them. We used to live in the same area when I was little.

02:24:42 - 02:24:44 | Speaker 1:

We're calling mom up right now. Here we go.

02:24:50 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 2:

Can you hear me? Mom, can you, hey, mom, I got to talk to you. What's going on? Why aren't you answering your cell phone? just you need to listen okay please i need your help all right and i need you to just listen so you remember david that guy okay all right so he came in i haven't seen him in like two years and he came into the tobacco shop today and i cannot believe it mom he looks so good now okay okay and i'm not gonna lie um i felt something different when i saw him and i'm gonna hang out with him but you cannot tell dallas at all please mom okay what's wrong with hanging out with him he's a friend But he looks so damn good Kyra A lot of guys look so damn good Believe me, I go there But listen If he's better in bed than he does I might have to keep him around But you can't tell Dallas Where are you? Oh, I'm at work But Promise won't tell him? Okay, Carla, you need to rethink things. Think about what you tell me. I don't need a lecture. No, I'm just saying. Think about what you tell me. So just use your brain and your senses. I don't want to hear about that. And don't let... Nope, nope. We're going to go that part because it's the same thing basically. Okay? But I love you. Use your control like I have to use mine. Wait. Mom. What? I love you. I love you too.

02:27:09 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 3:

Mom. Hi. It's me, David. How are you?

02:27:16 - 02:27:17 | Speaker 2:

I'm fine. How are you?

02:27:17 - 02:27:27 | Speaker 3:

Good. Listen, this is kind of an awkward thing to say, but... We actually are laying here with no clothes on, and we wanted to call in to say hi.

02:27:31 - 02:27:32 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:27:32 - 02:27:35 | Speaker 3:

Your daughter's lost control. I just want you to know that.

02:27:38 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:27:44 - 02:27:45 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to get back to cutting hair.

02:27:46 - 02:27:47 | Speaker 3:

Oh. Wait. Okay.

02:27:48 - 02:27:51 | Speaker 2:

All right. Bye. Mom. Mom, wait.

02:27:51 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, she hung up the phone. She hung up. Well, let's leave it at that. Nice job. Fix that mess now, Kyla.

02:28:03 - 02:28:05 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I have so many questions.

02:28:07 - 02:28:11 | Speaker 3:

Quick question. Do we think your mom also has a guy that maybe she's hanging out with, too?

02:28:12 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 2:

Listen, it's a long story.

02:28:16 - 02:29:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't think this one's going to. Hold on a second. Let's call your mom here. Hold on a second here. Oh, by the way, that was the wildest part. Her mom just seemed so natural, wasn't she? With, I'll keep your secret, I won't tell anyone. Now, that's where it was left, and then we could not get mom back. We called every five seconds trying to get mom back on the phone. We even called the salon to try to set up an appointment so that we could see mom. She wouldn't take our calls. I feel so awful. Should we just left it at that? now knowing I thought for sure Kyla was going to call mom instantly when mom got off from work that's what I would do not Kyla Kyla she just lets it go she ends up going on with her life for two weeks until we made this telephone call

02:29:05 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 2:

hello

02:29:11 - 02:29:13 | Speaker 3:

mom

02:29:13 - 02:29:15 | Speaker 2:

02:29:15 - 02:29:47 | Speaker 3:

Kyla's mom yes it's it's mojo in the morning hi and we were calling you because we had you on five lies to tell your mom oh great we we felt bad about the whole situation but gosh we got some great gossip out of Kyla. You guys have a fun life, an interesting life.

02:29:49 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 2:

Kyla Morgan? Oh, no. Never good. Oh, my God.

02:29:54 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Good fight. But aren't you glad, though, that Kyla's actually living, like, a nice, quiet life?

02:30:00 - 02:30:02 | Speaker 6:

Everything's good, except for the kids that are screaming now in the background.

02:30:04 - 02:30:07 | Speaker 4:

Right? That's a good life, though. It's a good life to have kids.

02:30:07 - 02:30:11 | Speaker 6:

That's good. Yeah. But we got a prize for you. You won a prize for Five Lies. Yeah.

02:30:13 - 02:30:14 | Speaker 4:

We won a prize.

02:30:15 - 02:30:23 | Speaker 6:

Yes. So she won you a prize for being on Five Lies to tell your mom and, you know, having your heart rate go up like that.

02:30:27 - 02:30:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Well, boy. What did we win?

02:30:30 - 02:30:36 | Speaker 6:

We'll get you your, we'll tell you, we'll tell you here off the air, so. But I just wanted to make sure you're okay.

02:30:38 - 02:30:43 | Speaker 4:

I'm okay. Now I want to know what the five lies were so I know what she lied to me about.

02:30:43 - 02:30:50 | Speaker 6:

No, remember when she called you up and said that she was in love with her old boyfriend, the old guy, or the old friend?

02:30:50 - 02:30:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Oh, no. That was, oh, my God, my heart can relax now.

02:30:59 - 02:31:06 | Speaker 6:

wait so you kyla you went over a like a week and a half and didn't tell your mom that that was fake

02:31:06 - 02:31:29 | Speaker 4:

uh-huh and there was a few times like my husband my mom called my husband and my husband's like your mom looked like she had to tell me something i said oh i bet she did oh my god oh that's unreal oh my god i hurt kyla you are it's okay i didn't even tell my husband he's looking at

02:31:29 - 02:32:03 | Speaker 6:

going what the heck oh my god that is hysterical well you know what it's all lies so there was part of our five lies tell your mom mom's gonna get a prize nobody's fooling around everything's good right everything's clear and kyla's great at keeping mojo in the morning secrets for us i like that oh my god look at those kids those kids love their grandma they quit they call you nama

02:32:03 - 02:32:10 | Speaker 4:

yeah it's been nama hi baby it's mojo in the mornings

02:32:10 - 02:32:20 | Speaker 5:

sweet five lies to tell your mama more mojo in minutes mojo in the mornings dirty on the 30

02:32:20 - 02:32:41 | Speaker 6:

All right, one last Dirty. Coming up next, I want to get Megan, and she wants to call out the person and their shirt that they were wearing. She wants to do it. I like this. Would it be a Megan fashion segment on the show?

02:32:42 - 02:32:50 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think it's just asking. Am I? I think I'm just asking people their opinions in general. Instant ics.

02:32:50 - 02:33:11 | Speaker 6:

I feel like I go through such bad periods in my life dressing-wise, and I feel like my dressing right now has pretty much been quarter zip and polo shirts lately. I did go out, by the way, and buy a couple of, I was able to fit into some Lululemon again.

02:33:12 - 02:33:13 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Nice.

02:33:13 - 02:33:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so I bought a couple of Lululemon things lately, but I'm now at a point in my life where I will wear the same thing over and over again. Like Chelsea said to me, she goes, I keep seeing this in the laundry. And I said to her, I go, well, it's because I just wore it again yesterday. She goes, I literally just did it. And you put it right back on. Like she says, I never rotate through my clothes at all. Do you guys find yourself ever doing that?

02:33:39 - 02:33:51 | Speaker 1:

I just did. I was cleaning out all the closets yesterday. And I, because of that reason, it's like, I feel like I wear the same 10 things over and over again yet i keep wanting to buy more things it doesn't make sense but it makes me

02:33:51 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 6:

realize i should be a minimalist and just buy three things it's called a capsule wardrobe

02:33:56 - 02:34:31 | Speaker 1:

where you buy 10 or 15 things and you just mix and match them and that's what you that's all i need yeah it really is all that anybody needs but all right that's no fun okay monica lewinski says she quote unquote lost her future after becoming famous for her affair with President Bill Clinton during an appearance on Caller Daddy with Alex Cooper, which actually goes live today. Monica delves into what she experienced in the fallout from what many say was the most famous extramarital relationship in American history. I was very quickly painted as

02:34:31 - 02:34:41 | Speaker 3:

a stalker, mentally unstable, not attractive enough. You were 22 years old. He was 49. You You were an intern. He was the president of the United States.

02:34:41 - 02:35:25 | Speaker 2:

Because of the power dynamics and the power differential, I never should have been in that position. There was so much collateral damage for women of my generation to watch a young woman to be pilloried on the world stage, to be torn apart from my sexuality. for my mistakes, for my everything. I was in my early 30s. I have nothing. That was the point when I realized how much had been taken from me. I lost my future. She said she believes Bill should have resigned after that scandal became public. But I said this earlier when I teased this. She looks phenomenal. She is a beautiful woman. Yeah, she really is.

02:35:25 - 02:35:58 | Speaker 4:

She does. I always was hot for Monica Lewinsky. I don't know what it was, but I think that it's weird when I hear the ages of them to think that Bill Clinton, the president, was 49 and she was in her 20s. I mean, now it's like we got, you know, 80 year old presidents, for God's sake. But that was wild in itself. But to think of the fact that you're an intern, 20 something years old, like what what person with the with the president of the United States would not have an affair with the president of the United States?

02:35:58 - 02:36:04 | Speaker 2:

Did you watch the, there was a series with Beanie Feldstein. Did you watch it?

02:36:04 - 02:36:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Absolutely.

02:36:05 - 02:36:09 | Speaker 2:

I didn't. Do you know what it is? I'll look it up. I forget what it's called.

02:36:09 - 02:36:17 | Speaker 4:

You know who's a worse person than Bill Clinton? The woman that she would turn to all the time.

02:36:17 - 02:36:19 | Speaker 2:

Oh, God. Linda.

02:36:19 - 02:36:31 | Speaker 4:

Linda Bird. Linda Tripp. Linda Tripp. Linda Tripp. Linda Tripp. Yeah. Linda Tripp was a worse person because I feel like that woman took it just as much advantage of Monica Lewinsky as Bill Clinton did.

02:36:31 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she did. She did. Speaking of Bill Clinton, his name is on, I mean, well, his name is allegedly on the Epstein list, but now people are betting on the who's who's of the Epstein list, and his name has reached 65% odds on Polly Market. Jay-Z, now listed as the number one suspect on the Epstein list, there's a 70% chance, according to betters that he's on it jp morgan chase ceo jamie diamond has also risen to become the number seven suspect on there some of these other people i don't know but prince andrew what

02:37:08 - 02:37:24 | Speaker 4:

happens to anybody that's on that list it does it become a situation where they're like banished off to uh who knows like jamie diamond being the guy from chase you'd think you'd have to resign right I mean

02:37:24 - 02:37:44 | Speaker 2:

yes I think for a lot of these people though they're like they're Prince Andrew Bill Clinton they're already like kind of I don't know how much fallout there's going to be unfortunately I hate to even say that I was trying to think of a nice way to say that but like this is the rich and powerful elite

02:37:44 - 02:37:55 | Speaker 4:

but you're if you're somebody that has been to Epstein's Island and if it's proven that you actually were there and there's proof that you were having sex with minors.

02:37:56 - 02:37:58 | Speaker 2:

I don't think there's going to be proof of the sex of minors.

02:37:58 - 02:37:59 | Speaker 4:

You don't think so? No.

02:37:59 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 2:

I just wonder who the surprises on the list are going to be. Because I feel like we've heard the same handful of names for two, three years now. Listen, we all know what happened. But if you can't prove it, you can't sign them into jail.

02:38:11 - 02:38:19 | Speaker 4:

But then if that's the case, then you feel bad for the person that just went to the island just because they thought that it was a fun place to go hang out with friends.

02:38:19 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 2:

And I'm sure there were those people. Yeah.

02:38:22 - 02:38:26 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't know. I'm sorry, I just... Heart out.

02:38:28 - 02:38:45 | Speaker 2:

Let's talk basketball. Luka Doncic had 19 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists in his first game against the Mavs since they traded him to the Lakers, leading L.A. to a 107-99 victory last night, and he was staring down that bench after he scored points.

02:38:45 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 5:

I can't wait to see the facial reactions, the trash-talking, the histrionics, the body language. Things could get real spicy here throughout this game as Doncic rips another one and immediately turns to the Mavericks bench.

02:39:03 - 02:39:08 | Speaker 3:

Where's Cab, by the way? Is he in there? He's here. You've been quiet. I didn't see it. Listening to the dirt.

02:39:09 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 2:

Do you guys hear the story about the married couple who say they were forced to sit next to a dead woman's body for hours on their flight? Oh, my God. Why didn't they put him under the Oh, my God. No, this flight was from Australia, too. Do you say Qatar or Qatar? I don't know. I thought it was Qatar. K-A? And now I think people say Qatar.

02:39:31 - 02:39:32 | Speaker 4:

Is it the Q?

02:39:32 - 02:39:46 | Speaker 2:

Q-A-T-A-R. Anyway, about 10 hours into this flight, this woman exits the restroom, collapses, and dies in front of Mitchell Ring and Jen Collin.

02:39:46 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 1:

And they tried to wheel her up towards business class, but she was quite a large lady and they couldn't get her through the aisle because her height was at armchair height. So they looked a bit frustrated and then they just looked at me and saw seats were available.

02:40:00 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 5:

side my wife was on the other side we're in a row of four by ourselves and they just said to me can you move over no and i just just said yes no problem and then they placed the lady in the

02:40:10 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 1:

chair that i was in we're also really mindful this is incredibly distressing for this woman's family as well but i'm just thinking about you you're then placed well this corpse is then placed next to you for how long on the flight for the next it was four hours three and a half to four hours

02:40:29 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 2:

isn't that creepy free flights for life i would demand no well yes listen no the people that landed upside down in toronto only get thirty thousand dollars you're not getting free flights

02:40:44 - 02:40:49 | Speaker 3:

for life i think those people should also get free flights for life i personally think as long

02:40:49 - 02:40:55 | Speaker 2:

as the plane's not filled with smoke we're landing okay they give me a couple cocktails i'm fine with

02:40:55 - 02:41:23 | Speaker 5:

it it's a dead body oh my gosh no no you're wrong you're absolutely wrong i am sorry to this woman and if i was this person i would have said open up the door throw her out like i it's wrong i said it was wrong before i said it i acknowledge i'm a bad person you said they had four hours left on their flight yeah rigor mortis starts setting in after two hours and can take like like can you imagine then having to get her out yeah oh my god that's awful i thought being next to a crying

02:41:23 - 02:41:29 | Speaker 2:

02:42:46 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 5:

yeah yeah joe from the joe show joe my son i'm not gonna lie and i love him to death and i i love when i pop or when he pops up on my social media i love him so much but i he popped up yesterday And I got the instant ick looking at your son, dude. Instant ick. And it had everything to do with the fact that that, he's a grown-ass man. A grown-ass man who buys his own clothes and dresses himself. He lays out his own clothes. And he decided yesterday to wear a quarter zip-up hoodie with nothing on underneath it. And it was unzipped pretty low. And there was no shirt underneath.

02:43:24 - 02:43:24 | Speaker 2:

Wait.

02:43:25 - 02:43:25 | Speaker 5:

I don't know why.

02:43:26 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 2:

There was nothing underneath, not even a t-shirt underneath there somewhere? Look at the photo.

02:43:29 - 02:43:45 | Speaker 5:

Look at the photo. I sent a screen grab from the video. Look at that man. He does not have anything on underneath his quarter zip. It is wild. His jacket kind of goes away from his body a little bit in the video. And I'm like, ooh, we're going to go all the way to the navel.

02:43:46 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 2:

Can we call their show and see if we can get them on with us? That's interesting. That's an interesting look. That's my son, too. I can't believe that.

02:43:55 - 02:44:05 | Speaker 4:

It's the camo pants with the lion's quarter zip that's unzipped so far. with nothing on underneath it. It was like, that was a choice. Yeah. They're on the topic right now.

02:44:06 - 02:44:22 | Speaker 2:

They are? Okay. Well, okay, then, you know what? When they're off a topic, we will, they do the morning show in Tampa on FLZ, 93.3 FLZ. It's interesting, because Joe Normal, like, normally gets on a habit of. He's a cool dresser. You think so?

02:44:22 - 02:44:44 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I think he is. So he can pull off things, and I really don't mean this in an offensive way. He can pull off things that I feel like a lot of guys can't Kev is that way as well Kevin I had a conversation about this yesterday Where he showed me a pair of shoes I was like those are ugly shoes However you can pull anything off And I feel like Joe is kind of the same way Maybe not this But he has cool style

02:44:44 - 02:44:55 | Speaker 2:

He normally he's on his golf kick Like his dad is I think a lot of guys are into it now They're like loving golf But we wear like golf stuff So he wears a lot of golf stuff these days

02:44:55 - 02:45:13 | Speaker 5:

Yes, but what I was going to say, the annoying thing about Joe is, you're right, he does wear a lot of golf stuff but then he'll have like a really cool like street wear t-shirt with some cool shoes that i feel like is really put together and then he'll be like in a suit or athleisure like everything looks good i don't know what it like it's truly not him in general it was just

02:45:13 - 02:45:24 | Speaker 4:

the quarter zip with nothing underneath it i think you can have you can have nothing underneath it but you got to zip it up a little more then so you're not showing all the chest right it's uh

02:45:24 - 02:45:45 | Speaker 1:

It's wild because of, I think, as a guy, you assume that you can't show off too much chest, especially when you have three. How many hairs are there on there? What? Is that like three hairs on his chest, or how many are there? That's my son there. It's weird when you're looking at your son's chest.

02:45:46 - 02:45:48 | Speaker 2:

What do you mean you can't show it off when you got chest hair?

02:45:49 - 02:45:56 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm just kidding. I would never show off mine. I got pimples and stuff. You don't want to see that. Yeah, you're right. Yeah. I love Chester.

02:45:56 - 02:46:18 | Speaker 2:

I got a caption that I'm ready to post. Whenever I get a six-pack, because, you know, they call them taco meat, I'm going to say, you know, they call your hair on your chest taco meat. Oh, okay. So my caption when I get a six-pack is going to be hard shell taco. You've been thinking about this. I got a taco here. That's been, yeah. I mean, I thought about that three years ago. Not close to a six-pack yet, but one day.

02:46:18 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 4:

Well, do any of you guys have, like, instant ics? uh with what it's kind of the opposite he when he wears collared or like button-up shirts he would button them all the way up and i was like honey you gotta unbutton those top two maybe three oh okay maybe three okay depending on where we're going all the way up i do like

02:46:40 - 02:46:50 | Speaker 5:

you're gonna choke yourself but i do have an instant ink for women that i can't stand and they're it's very much becoming a trend again those ruffle socks that you would put on three I literally just ordered those yesterday.

02:46:51 - 02:47:01 | Speaker 4:

I just ordered them for Easterology yesterday. Hey, Beck. It's an ick. I did. I'll show you. It's an ick. I'm wearing them. What shoes do you wear with those? I am wearing them. I'm going to wear them over leggings with my tennis shoes.

02:47:02 - 02:47:02 | Speaker 1:

Really?

02:47:02 - 02:47:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No. So what you mean, Shannon? No, they are. Shannon? I just ordered them. I love you.

02:47:06 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 5:

Please don't.

02:47:07 - 02:47:07 | Speaker 4:

Too late.

02:47:08 - 02:47:23 | Speaker 1:

Too late. I'm not, uh, instant ick is, I wouldn't call it ick, but I don't like women's fashion nowadays of the big baggy jeans that women are wearing. Like, I'm not big on the big baggy jeans.

02:47:23 - 02:47:24 | Unknown:

Not bad.

02:47:24 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 1:

Do you like that?

02:47:25 - 02:47:38 | Speaker 2:

Big baggy jeans on a girl? No, guys like it. It's funny. I'm not. Y'all gotta relax, bro. I think it's the same thing you said. Certain people can pull off certain things. And I also think, because y'all don't like chicks with lowriders. I like those.

02:47:38 - 02:47:49 | Speaker 4:

No, I didn't say I don't like girls who wear lowriders. I said I absolutely will refuse to wear lowriders. I think you could. Especially after you have babies. Oh, my God. No. That is my alien stomach area.

02:47:49 - 02:47:53 | Speaker 5:

It was the culture of low-rise jeans being popular that was the problem.

02:47:54 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 4:

And then you'd pull your thong up, like, over the sides like this. Oh, my God.

02:47:59 - 02:48:01 | Speaker 2:

Shanna, you could throw on some low-rise jeans. You've got to snatch low-waves.

02:48:02 - 02:48:03 | Unknown:

No.

02:48:03 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. I appreciate that compliment, but absolutely not.

02:48:07 - 02:48:11 | Speaker 2:

You're the only guy I know that can say that. Throw them on with your ruffle socks. Have a day.

02:48:13 - 02:48:47 | Speaker 1:

What other stuff do you not like? guys wear that uh that because i can't pull off and these when i see guys do it i get very jealous of them the guys that wear the really really uh short short pants i love that and those guys the guys that do that like when i see now that we're working downtown we see a lot more guys with suits on and i'll see these guys that wear like these really fitted suits where they have like the floods of uh pants and i'm like god these guys you know what i mean but you don't You notice you ever see a short, fat guy wearing those? Like a short, fat guy wearing those?

02:48:47 - 02:48:48 | Speaker 2:

No, yes, you do.

02:48:48 - 02:48:55 | Speaker 1:

No, a short, fat guy wearing those, it was actually not fashion. It was a mistake. His feet didn't fit into his suit anymore.

02:48:55 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 2:

It was the last one.

02:48:56 - 02:48:58 | Speaker 1:

Listener Megan, what's yours? What's going on? How you doing?

02:48:59 - 02:49:21 | Speaker 3:

Good, how are you? Good, what's your incident? No, I cannot stand the fact that flared jeans are now back in action. Kendrick. I hated those more than anything. and then those horrendous, like, trip Bojangles pants. Wait, what are those? Like, do you remember seeing, like, the goth kids in, like, 2006 with those humongous pants that were chains swaying everywhere?

02:49:22 - 02:49:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I got some of those.

02:49:24 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 3:

Oh, please throw them out. Please, do yourself and the rest of us a favor.

02:49:31 - 02:49:43 | Speaker 1:

I talked yesterday about the fashion accessories, but the guys that wear all the bracelets. What are your guys' thoughts on the bracelets? because we got into it kind of briefly. Do you like guys wearing bracelets?

02:49:43 - 02:49:50 | Speaker 2:

I do. Is there a difference between, like, bracelets and bangles? I think dudes who wear bangles are kind of weird.

02:49:51 - 02:50:07 | Speaker 4:

I think there are some bracelets that are, like, chachi, douchey, but overall, like, I like guys wearing bracelets. Yeah, like, don't wear a Puka Shawn necklace, but wear a chain. I went through a phase where I had, like, seven different bracelets on my arm. You did? I did, yeah. I think I saw Kanye do it.

02:50:08 - 02:50:22 | Speaker 3:

The only bracelets I'll wear is when a little kid walks up to me and says, my school's doing a fundraiser. Will you put that on here? You know what I mean? I don't know. I look at it sometimes, and I think, like you just said, it looks chachi. Which, by the way, is it okay to say chachi?

02:50:23 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. All these words now, and then someone's going to text me and be like, that's offensive, too.

02:50:27 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 3:

What does that mean? You just offended every Italian.

02:50:29 - 02:50:30 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. Well, I'm Italian.

02:50:31 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 3:

I feel like Italians don't get offended. I don't know if that's even a nice word to say.

02:50:34 - 02:50:35 | Speaker 6:

Shout out DJ Chachi.

02:50:38 - 02:50:44 | Speaker 3:

A couple of texters that are texted in saying guys in flip-flops or sandals.

02:50:45 - 02:50:46 | Speaker 6:

Only those oofas.

02:50:46 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 3:

Ooh, what about man buns?

02:50:48 - 02:50:49 | Speaker 6:

Love a good man bun.

02:50:50 - 02:50:50 | Speaker 3:

Really?

02:50:50 - 02:50:51 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, love.

02:50:51 - 02:50:57 | Speaker 3:

Now I've just taken away any thought that you've had about any of the guys wearing anything else other than that.

02:50:57 - 02:51:19 | Speaker 6:

Did you see what the next trend is going to be, though, for guys' haircuts? Like the Beatles shag from the, like not the 60s, but like the one that was like the 70s or 80s where they were like getting a little bit older and had the shaggy hair where they're almost like overgrown bowl cuts. Oh, it's like my son's hair right now. That's perfect. It's supposed to be the next trend. And I'm like, uh, instant egg.

02:51:19 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 3:

Well, it's better than the stupid thing that they do now where they have the curly top thing.

02:51:25 - 02:51:26 | Speaker 6:

Broccoli hair, ice cream hair.

02:51:26 - 02:51:40 | Speaker 3:

There's all the different hairs. Every college kid on Michigan State's campus, every guy, they all look the same. The amazing thing is if anybody committed a crime, they would never find the actual person because they're all wearing the same exact haircut. What's going on, Rachel? How you doing?

02:51:41 - 02:51:42 | Speaker 1:

Good. How are you?

02:51:43 - 02:51:44 | Speaker 3:

Good. What's your ick?

02:51:45 - 02:51:48 | Speaker 1:

How people nowadays wear their fanny packs.

02:51:49 - 02:51:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm seeing more fanny packs than guys with purses.

02:51:52 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I love that.

02:51:53 - 02:51:55 | Speaker 4:

I do that all the time. Young Merce.

02:51:55 - 02:52:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's a lot of guys now taking the fanny pack and just putting it over their shoulder like it's a crossbody. How else are we supposed to sneak our snacks in the movies?

02:52:03 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 6:

Not for me. Do you want them to wear it like 90s dad style at Disney for the first time, like actually around their waist?

02:52:11 - 02:52:13 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Sydney? Hi.

02:52:15 - 02:52:21 | Speaker 1:

One thing that a lot of people find in it is straight men with painted nails, but I actually like it. I like that too.

02:52:22 - 02:52:23 | Speaker 3:

So you're into that?

02:52:24 - 02:52:33 | Speaker 1:

Like, if they're overly painted, then no. But, like, just a cute little design, especially when, like, they match their girlfriends. I think that's so cute. We're very divided in this studio about that.

02:52:33 - 02:52:37 | Speaker 4:

I'm never coming painting nails. Do your thing, though, but I'm never doing it. Here's the deal.

02:52:37 - 02:52:55 | Speaker 3:

You're never going to get an appointment at your nail salon anymore if a bunch of us guys are all there trying to get our nails painted. It's going to be even tougher. You're going to walk in. The place I walk into all the time, they're like, you're number 20. Like, they don't take reservations. All right, we'll be right back. Don't go anywhere.

02:52:56 - 02:53:18 | Speaker 2:

Add the Mojo in the Morning show to your presets on our free iHeartRadio app. And never miss the show. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:53:20 - 02:54:04 | Speaker 5:

Stop. Let me get a good look at it Ooh, so thick Now I know where to call it a fatty And I'll be so sick Got a hit and picked up a habit That's all right Cause you're all mine Oh, come on, show them who you call daddy I guess they're just my cunts Girl, they wish they had it Ooh, my killer, my killer Yeah, you're a classic And you're all mine Tonight And as long as I got my suit and tie I'm gonna leave it all on the floor tonight And it got fixed up All right, Mojo in the morning

02:54:04 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 3:

Joe from the Joe Show just ended his show And now we'd like to have a rebuttal on Megan's fashion comments on Joe's wearing a lion's. I don't even know what was said. Okay, so you were wearing a lion's quarters. I don't trust your recap.

02:54:24 - 02:54:25 | Speaker 6:

Can I recap it?

02:54:26 - 02:54:30 | Speaker 3:

She said that you were ugly. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Go ahead, Megan. Yes, go ahead.

02:54:31 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 6:

Joe, I think you have great style. Apparently 99% of the time because I think you always look so well put together. And then yesterday you popped up on my timeline, an Instagram video did for your your morning show and quick question the outfit that you were wearing yesterday was that a lion's quarter zip hoodie unzipped very low with nothing on underneath it yes okay that's an instant ache for me dude and I'm sorry and I can't

02:55:00 - 02:55:10 | Speaker 5:

it you cannot control the ick but unfortunately that one right off the bat it it gets me every time you got it you got to put something on under that yeah but it's not that's not what the shirt

02:55:10 - 02:55:20 | Speaker 1:

is the shirt's not some it's like a dry fit workout shirt wait the uh the lions uh i show you like aiden hutchinson doesn't wear a shirt under it oh your gibbs does also a shirt it's

02:55:20 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 2:

waiting so it's not sure megan sent us a picture of it i want to make sure that this is the exact

02:55:24 - 02:55:34 | Speaker 1:

we're not allowed to comment on what other people wear aren't we supposed to be like body positive and stuff if i was a woman i would go to hr right now i'm very offended

02:55:34 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 2:

no this hurts we don't do this this is the shirt that you're wearing were you trying to show off

02:55:38 - 02:55:48 | Speaker 1:

some of that with it being zipped very no no no now that i look is there a zipper i kind of have pubes on my chest so i don't like showing off my chest there it's just like how the shirt is

02:55:48 - 02:55:57 | Speaker 2:

it actually yeah it actually is uh what he was talking about when you look at it closely and Because you go into the sleeves, you can notice it's like one of those.

02:55:58 - 02:55:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you don't wear a shirt under it.

02:55:59 - 02:56:05 | Speaker 2:

It's one of the shirts that the players would wear, like, on the field before the game as a practice shirt.

02:56:05 - 02:56:06 | Speaker 1:

Because I am a player.

02:56:08 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 2:

Can I ask you an honest question? How much Lions stuff did you buy this year? Because I want to see who bought more, me or you. Because I feel like my Lions wardrobe, like, was got. Oh, it quadrupled every week. I had more lion's gear to go all the way through past the Super Bowl, to the parade, to the celebrations we were going to have all year. Now I have lion's gear that I feel like I can't wear right now because I feel like I'm over-lioned.

02:56:34 - 02:56:45 | Speaker 1:

Me and a bunch of African kids have Super Bowl champion lion's shirts. I pre-ordered that one, and now I don't have that. And Megan, I cut a v-neck in that one, too, to show my chest hair.

02:56:45 - 02:56:48 | Speaker 4:

But here's the thing. It's like a dress shirt. You just put on a tank underneath.

02:56:48 - 02:56:53 | Speaker 1:

Well, hold on one second. And if I wear a dress shirt, I'm not wearing a tank top under it. That's like in middle school.

02:56:53 - 02:56:55 | Speaker 4:

Are you wearing like a white T-shirt?

02:56:56 - 02:56:58 | Speaker 1:

An undershirt? No, you don't wear a shirt under a dress shirt.

02:56:58 - 02:57:06 | Speaker 4:

Okay, I will say that gives me major ick when I see like the tank, because you're not supposed to call them white feeders anymore, but.

02:57:06 - 02:57:07 | Speaker 2:

That term is crazy.

02:57:08 - 02:57:12 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, like the tank underneath. Yeah. When I see that, I hate that. What?

02:57:12 - 02:57:19 | Speaker 5:

That is ick to me. No. Yes, that is ick to me. No, because you know it's the real ick? Yellow armpit stains in your dress shirt. I'd rather have that. No.

02:57:19 - 02:57:21 | Speaker 3:

I'd rather have that.

02:57:21 - 02:57:28 | Speaker 5:

Put on no deodorant because a tank top's not going to help you with the armpit stains anyway. Your armpits are still out. I prefer the T-shirts. You're right.

02:57:29 - 02:57:45 | Speaker 2:

I think that it's interesting because here we are, we're talking, it's always, this is about guys. If we were just talking about women, you're right, Jo. That's not true. We cannot say bad things about women because we will look like we are male chauvinists.

02:57:45 - 02:57:49 | Speaker 5:

I was the only one in this room that gave a female example right afterwards.

02:57:49 - 02:57:59 | Speaker 2:

you can do both and shannon was the one that has that female example which i thought was interesting what is the female example ruffle socks she thinks that her sorry i just ate orange

02:57:59 - 02:58:05 | Speaker 3:

i'm very spitty no she did not say that she did quote unquote you can hear it on the podcast

02:58:05 - 02:58:11 | Speaker 1:

you know what no one has a like women can wear v-necks or whatever they are unzip quarter zip

02:58:11 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 5:

no one would say anything yeah because we have boobs dude everybody wants to see

02:58:15 - 02:58:20 | Speaker 1:

Have you seen me lately? I got boobs. You look good. It's winter in Florida. I gained my weight. You look good, Joe. Shut up.

02:58:21 - 02:59:13 | Speaker 2:

I think when women do the V and it goes down to their cleavage, it's so hot. It's so sexy. I love when. I love, by the way, watch this. Watch this. Watch this change too in this one. I love when your mom shows me her cleavage. He gets grossed out when I talk about his mom. I wonder why. I mean, he fed on them, but I get it. I got yelled at the other day by Chelsea for talking about how hot she was. uh and oh my god you're so hot in front of joe like she told me like like he was a kid i'm like chelsea have you ever heard his show i mean his show is you know him talking to listeners and stuff like that she said that you can't do that in front you that's your son what's going on jen hi hi good morning hi jen we're talking about we're bashing guys today basically is what we're doing here in their fashion what's going on no women are we got we got some my ruffle socks got

02:59:13 - 02:59:25 | Speaker 6:

I was just calling to say, I'm a hairstylist, and I'm a fan of the broccoli top. I think it's so cute on all of these guys, although everybody's talking trash about them. You like these? You talking pubes?

02:59:25 - 02:59:27 | Speaker 1:

What are you talking about, broccoli top? You talking pubes?

02:59:27 - 02:59:31 | Speaker 2:

You know the curly, the college kids that are wearing the...

02:59:31 - 02:59:33 | Speaker 1:

Oh, I thought you were talking about like a male landing strip.

02:59:34 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 6:

That's my bad. No, I don't do that. I only do the hair on your head. I really thought that's what she meant.

02:59:38 - 02:59:49 | Speaker 2:

Jen when you're the broccoli top though the guy can only be like between the ages of like 16 and maybe 19 or 25 or something like like a 30 year old guy

02:59:49 - 03:00:00 | Speaker 6:

cannot have a broccoli top haircut you know it's it is rare it's definitely the younger kids it's like I mean as young as like 10 years old like 10 to like 20

03:00:00 - 03:00:04 | Speaker 5:

were students still doing perms on these guys you would not believe the amount of perms i'm doing

03:00:04 - 03:00:24 | Speaker 4:

in 2024 and 2025 it's nuts all of my girlfriends who have daughters that are in high school i say these guys with this broccoli hair have ruined their homecoming and prom pictures forever it's terrible shannon now mind you i had like a bowl cut until i was in eighth grade so i shouldn't be talking but it's there it's bad i like the trend though it's working for me i'm making some

03:00:24 - 03:00:37 | Speaker 3:

money i i feel like these these high school kids or college-ish kids like my son's age they either do one they do the broccoli top or they look like morgan wallen like they'll they'll kind of

03:00:37 - 03:00:44 | Speaker 5:

mullet it or something oh yes we've seen lots and lots of mullets lately hey do perps smell as bad

03:00:44 - 03:00:56 | Speaker 3:

as they used to like my mom used to take me to go get her hair permed and as a little kid i still have ptsds from being in the salon and smelling that stuff they are still stinky but they're not

03:00:56 - 03:01:07 | Speaker 5:

as bad as they used to be they've come a long way yeah um but if you rinse them really really well they really don't linger too too bad but yeah they still stink that chemical reaction is real

03:01:07 - 03:01:25 | Speaker 3:

how did they never figure out that perm like stuff and all the hair dyes that women put on their hair give them some kind of cancer i mean there's a big lawsuit right now really yeah because were beautiful that's right we'll die with cancer um all right well thanks jen appreciate you where

03:01:25 - 03:01:47 | Speaker 5:

03:02:02 - 03:02:05 | Speaker 5:

You better believe we will. Thank you so much, guys. Have a great day. You too.

03:02:06 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 3:

We love you too. All right. We're going to be back. Second date update next.

03:02:11 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 1:

Why aren't you getting a call back?

03:02:12 - 03:02:14 | Unknown:

Why did she call me back?

03:02:14 - 03:02:17 | Speaker 1:

We'll find out next with Mojo in the Morning's second date update.

03:02:17 - 03:02:19 | Unknown:

I'm just going to have my babies.

03:02:20 - 03:02:40 | Speaker 3:

I got so much stuff I want to talk about. First off, real quick, Kevin, you are going to be out tomorrow at the Planet Fitness in Ann Arbor. Briarwood Mall, new location of Planet Fitness. I want to make sure everybody shows up there, gives Kevin some love, go out and see him. And you get a bunch of prizes that you're giving away?

03:02:40 - 03:02:53 | Speaker 2:

Man, so I'll be there from 4 to 6 p.m., and I'm giving away Post Malone tickets, but they'll also have food. They'll have drinks. It'll just be a good time with good people who are interested in bettering themselves, man. Yeah, let's have a good time.

03:02:54 - 03:03:01 | Speaker 3:

Shannon, you didn't have to buy your tickets. You could have gone out and seen Kevin at Planet Fitness. And let me tell you, I probably would have saved a lot of money.

03:03:01 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 4:

Those tickets are expensive.

03:03:02 - 03:03:52 | Speaker 3:

That's a big show. Yeah, so win those tickets tomorrow, 4 to 6, Briarwood Mall, brand-new location of Planet Fitness. It is a gorgeous location. Uh, real quick, I wanted to throw this out there before I get second date update. I got a text from Bushman last night and, uh, and he said to me, he goes, uh, Hey, uh, I heard that you're doing the show, uh, down in Florida this week. And I said, yes. And I'm down, you know, down in Tampa and stuff. And, uh, and he said to me, he goes, you are so lucky. He goes, we got brown water coming out of the sinks here. And I said to him, I go brown water. And he goes, yeah. And he goes, and then you go into the bathroom and you flush the toilets, it looks like somebody just had a non-hydrated pee because it's like the color of, you remember how your pee looks when you haven't hydrated yourself enough? Oh, yeah.

03:03:52 - 03:03:53 | Speaker 4:

Well, so they were-

03:03:53 - 03:03:59 | Speaker 3:

Moch, you got your camera on? Yeah, you got, wait. You want to see it? Yeah, show me it. Can you go and show me this?

03:03:59 - 03:04:00 | Speaker 4:

03:04:00 - 03:04:05 | Speaker 3:

That's the weight. You're not drinking that water, are you? Well, guess who did? I drank it this morning.

03:04:47 - 03:04:50 | Speaker 4:

Like weddings and stuff sometimes we'll do them.

03:04:50 - 03:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Like, DTE has, like, and also, like, anybody that's ever been to the DAC, they have, like, outdoor, like, bathrooms that are Port-a-Potties. We may have to get those in the...

03:05:00 - 03:05:05 | Speaker 6:

lobby here for a little while but then they're nice good ones like nice like honestly where you

03:05:05 - 03:05:17 | Speaker 3:

walk inside and you're like this is nicer than my bathroom at home i have been into a port-a-body like that do do we know if is it gonna be better like soon or i don't know colleen sent out an

you confront him about the girl he's been texting another world famous war of the roses happens tomorrow morning at 79 on mojo in the morning it's the second date update on mojo in the morning

03:06:35 - 03:06:42 | Speaker 5:

Hey, guys. Yeah, I'm trying to figure out why I'm not getting the call back.

03:06:42 - 03:06:57 | Speaker 3:

You know, what's funny is when we have people do second date update here on the show, we have them submit an entry, and sometimes people will also, like yourself, send a picture and stuff. You seem like a nice-looking guy, Xavier. I don't understand why any girl would not call you back.

03:06:58 - 03:07:05 | Speaker 5:

Well, first of all, thank you. I hope she felt the same way. I thought she was nice looking.

03:07:06 - 03:07:08 | Speaker 3:

What did you guys do? Oh, okay. Go ahead, Jenny.

03:07:09 - 03:07:11 | Speaker 6:

I just want to know what they did for, what did you do for your date?

03:07:12 - 03:07:25 | Speaker 5:

We just kept it simple. We went out to dinner. We had a couple drinks. Okay. Yeah, then afterwards we went, we actually went and met some of my friends at a different bar afterwards. Okay, oh, fun. Yeah.

03:07:25 - 03:07:37 | Speaker 3:

together yeah so it was like a a big thing you guys hung out for a good period of time brianna is on the phone with us right now brianna will you say hello to xavier hey hey

03:07:40 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 4:

um okay this is awkward um you look i thought you were great you actually were like checking all of the boxes of what I was looking for um you opened doors paid the bill gave me flowers like it was great but then when we went to the bar after and you were with your friends you were like a completely different dude you kept saying to your friends oh yeah this is my my friend you wouldn't touch me you didn't flirt like it was the weirdest thing and then you were sitting there talking to other girls and you wouldn't introduce me to them

03:08:24 - 03:08:36 | Speaker 3:

wait a second so weird but hold on you went from like zero to a thousand so real quick so he was great everything was wonderful except yeah he was different when he was around his

03:08:36 - 03:08:46 | Speaker 4:

friends you're saying yeah it was completely different like he didn't even like he kept saying this is my friend this is my friend meaning me what do you think he should have called you

03:08:46 - 03:08:48 | Speaker 3:

You guys have only gone out on one date.

03:08:49 - 03:08:59 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but that, like, call me your date. Don't introduce me, like, as if I'm a friend. And then when you're with other girls, you don't introduce me. That's weird.

03:08:59 - 03:09:04 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's rude. That's rude. I get that. I don't really necessarily get the whole date versus friend thing.

03:09:05 - 03:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, to me, that's just, you know, I don't know. That's just a name. I don't know. Like, I wouldn't know.

03:09:11 - 03:09:13 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but it just made me feel uncomfortable.

03:09:13 - 03:09:28 | Speaker 3:

ball if i if i'm out with somebody out on a date sometimes i almost feel like it's embarrassing uh for them if i'm saying hey i'm hanging out with all my friends and here's this person who's my date like i'd rather just say make it feel like you were just part of the friendship group so

03:09:28 - 03:09:46 | Speaker 5:

yeah um that's exactly my thinking man like it it's kind of an awkward situation to be with people you know and then somebody you don't know so i don't keep being like my date date and my days of dating you know yeah and the girls were my girlfriends right nothing romantic between

03:09:46 - 03:10:00 | Speaker 4:

why didn't you introduce me i feel weird why didn't you introduce me like it was they were stunning by the way and i mean i think i'm pretty but like that's really intimidating that

03:10:00 - 03:10:19 | Speaker 11:

oh my date meaning you know oh my friend i guess i'm sitting with other people that i don't even know and there you are sitting with three gorgeous women not introducing me that's not like you went from a complete you were completely different guy xavier why did you not introduce her to the girls

03:10:19 - 03:10:47 | Speaker 9:

thank you yeah like it's probably first of all my girl my my female friends are like um way too interested in my my dates as far as like is she the one that sort of thing so i think that's part of it i kind of didn't want them grilling her um and uh and then it's just i mean i guess it's i see i see where she's coming from i probably nerves on my part to kind of have you i appreciate

03:10:47 - 03:10:52 | Speaker 5:

you admitting that you that you look back now and you should have done it differently brianna does

03:10:52 - 03:10:57 | Speaker 2:

not seem shannon like the type of girl that needs to actually have anybody stick up for her like

03:10:57 - 03:11:06 | Speaker 5:

I agree with you, but I would feel weird if I wasn't introduced. Kev, you said it's an insecurity.

03:11:06 - 03:11:19 | Speaker 1:

No, just the doubling down on how gorgeous they are and oh my God, they look so beautiful. Just that part was the reason why that is like a major reason of her being mad that he didn't introduce her.

03:11:19 - 03:11:30 | Speaker 4:

No, I think it's just weird that you introduced me to the guys and not the girls. Like you're almost embarrassed to have me around your girlfriends. like they're going to judge you for me that would have made me super uncomfortable i totally get

03:11:30 - 03:12:09 | Speaker 2:

that xavier have you dated any of the girls that are part of this group never okay because that would maybe one of them was a former girlfriend i i want to just kind of put this all together and then you guys can comment uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 um if the guy was great everything was good except for this one time i still don't understand why you just didn't call him and talk to him the other thing too is brianna you are very forceful and and how you are sticking up for yourself i would think that if that was how you felt that night you would have just introduced yourself yeah hey hi let me introduce myself to you i i do that and i am the worst

03:12:09 - 03:12:21 | Speaker 5:

at introducing west to people i i and it's obviously i'm not embarrassed of him it's just i am so terrible about that um and he will introduce himself and then honestly it makes

03:12:21 - 03:12:29 | Speaker 2:

me look really bad because i'm like oh yeah i forgot you were standing right there a lot of times i forget people's names and that's how i do it yeah jordan what's up it's mojo on the

03:12:29 - 03:12:42 | Speaker 7:

morning second date update so i agree with everything that mojo just said but my thing and he only said it really fast he even knows meeting new people is awkward so why did they

03:12:42 - 03:12:47 | Speaker 2:

even go meet his friends that's a good point xavier why would you take her out to meet friends

03:12:47 - 03:12:53 | Speaker 8:

you know they all they all had plans and that we were nearby and i was going to go there anyway so

03:12:53 - 03:12:59 | Speaker 5:

i was like keep the date going i like that i get that i don't mind that uh courtney what's up it's

03:12:59 - 03:13:12 | Speaker 10:

mojo in the morning second date update hi i am curious on why his girlfriends who should have his best interests are like leave us and go talk to your date you shouldn't be with us right now

03:13:12 - 03:13:27 | Speaker 3:

you should be with her yeah thank you yes that's how i felt too like where is the solidarity with women being like hey like it just was and that made me feel like these are people that i don't

03:13:27 - 03:13:35 | Speaker 10:

want to hang out with yeah i i understand i would be like go be with her leave uh jessica your

03:13:35 - 03:13:41 | Speaker 2:

thoughts on uh the date that happened between xavier and brianna what do you think

03:13:41 - 03:14:59 | Speaker 6:

hi jess oh hi how are you um i think that maybe she from experience with friends and personal experiences i think maybe he was giving her that feeling that he was trying to keep her a secret like they weren't in any more of a relationship than friendship so his friends and all these other ladies would not get the impression that he is spoken for on this time out because i i heard you guys talking about like yes let's keep the date going which is great but if you're gonna keep your date going why wouldn't you be like hey this is my date like i i mean not specifically keep calling her a date but when you show up you're like hey we were out on a date we thought we'd come hang out with you guys and everybody usually knows especially if they're your girlfriend Friends and your friends, everybody can get that vibe that that's your date. You don't even really have to, you don't even really have to announce it because they get the vibe from it, from you guys being together. So I'm thinking that she was feeling he was keeping her out on purpose or embarrassed or didn't want to be with her.

03:15:00 - 03:15:06 | Speaker 3:

that way in front of his friends and a lot of people by the way a lot of the texters are saying

03:15:06 - 03:15:22 | Speaker 6:

the same thing that you're saying so xavier you're learning from this that a lot of times bringing her or any date if it's some not going to be brianna again around your friendship base is probably not the greatest thing to do if you're going to be spending time with other people

03:15:22 - 03:15:48 | Speaker 4:

i see that and to be honest it was it was the exact opposite like everybody knew i was on this date everybody knew i was bringing the date so i think i think the nerves like i didn't want everybody observing our interactions how are they getting along how much you know so i kind of like kind of went the opposite direction which is was not the right thing to do yeah all right well now

03:15:48 - 03:16:00 | Speaker 6:

you've learned xavier and by the way yeah it sounds like you got hot friends let's hang out with your hot friends sometime, okay? Sure, man, come along. All right, good luck, bud.

03:16:00 - 03:16:07 | Speaker 9:

I think the topic that I've been trying to get to like the last three mornings, I really want to tell the story, hopefully before my friend makes a decision on whether or not he's going to stop seeing this person. But all week long have been trying to do the topic of they're better when they're drunk or she's better when she's drunk.

03:16:32 - 03:16:33 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

03:16:33 - 03:17:04 | Speaker 6:

03:18:07 - 03:18:11 | Speaker 2:

It's easy to laugh at the meme, but have you ever wondered about the human behind the headline?
