So I had a busy day yesterday and my day culminated in I had a girl's night, a Galentine's that got had gotten postponed because of the snowstorm. And so went to that, had a great time, got home. And while the kids were getting ready for bed, I was like, oh, I'm going to just try to clean up and throw in a load of laundry. So I'm in my seven year old son Smith's room and I'm put I don't know why this child thinks that the floor is a good place for his clothes. So I'm like trying to teach him that the clothes actually go in the hamper, but whatever. So I was picking up all of his clothes and putting them in the hamper. And I felt a bulge in the pocket of one of the pairs of sweatpants that I was throwing into the hamper. I reach in and pull out a ton. I'm talking a stack about this thick of, it looked like credit cards. Okay. Probably, I don't know, 15, 20 of them. Okay. And I'm looking at them going, what are these? And they each had a value of $50 on them. They were from my dentist's office. They had my dentist's office on them. And they were for non-insurance covered services. Now, I never got one of these. I never saw one of these at my dentist's office. So I was confused as to how Smith got so many of them. And so I asked him and he looked at me like a deer in headlights. And he was like, well, because I brought him and Lucy to my dentist appointment two weeks ago. And he said he thought they were free. He took them from the desk at the dentist office. You guys, he had $650 worth of these credit cards from the dentist office. So if anybody needs teeth whitening, whatever you want. But I have to call the dentist office today and be like, is this something that you give out? are these like who gets these well they're they're each worth fifty dollars i know i know but i

wonder you know oh if they're like loaded well you know how yeah you go to the target and stuff and they say 50 bucks but you got to load them on there but you should you should try them you

And millennials often feel worse about themselves when seeing their friends' Instagram posts. Well, Gen Z gets that same feeling, but from a slightly different place. It's called LinkedIn envy. This is a real thing. Logging onto the platform, you're going to find post after post of people excited to announce their new position or their dream job or some sort of promotion that they're getting. And at a time when unemployed people are finding it harder to even find new work in the first place, the younger generation is finding that LinkedIn actually impacts their mental health more than Instagram. and experts are talking about this one actually likened linkedin to a dating site where people you sit there and you compare yourself to others and she said she you know even admitted she uses the platform to see what exes and like frenemies are up to and some of her friends have even been chatted up on it and this is the thing a new survey finds that a large number of people are not only getting jobs via LinkedIn, they're also getting dates via LinkedIn. And some people are even preferring it to dating sites. You know what's amazing about that? Because you have to be more honest on LinkedIn, right? It's for potential employers. So you're not using filters. You're not lying about crap. You're not posting, you know, garbage on there. It's very, very legitimate.

So let me tell you, at first when I hear this, I'm like, okay, I love this idea, right? I know what you do for a living. Like you said, you have to be more honest for getting more realistic professional photos like love it and then i go if we can't even have like job places that aren't people sliding into your dms trying to hook up i'm gonna lose my mind well you know what i love

about so i was never really on linkedin and then all of my friends now are on linkedin west uses linkedin like instagram yes but i what intrigues me about linkedin and mojo i don't know

Well, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gossip Girl, Harriet the Spy, actress Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away. She was only 39 years old. She was found dead yesterday at her New York City apartment. Yeah. And I mean, tragic that she died so young, my God. But also her mom was the one that found her daughter's body in bed yesterday morning. She just had a liver transplant a couple of months ago. But mom called police and paramedics who pronounced Michelle dead at the scene. She was last seen alive at 10 o'clock Tuesday evening. So she very likely died in her sleep. but she had this liver transplant, which I'm told caused some complications with both her liver and her thyroid. So I'm thinking maybe her body was rejecting the liver and that's what possibly led to her death. But friends, neighbors say she was starting to look less and less like herself over the past couple of weeks. A friend of hers wrote something on social media yesterday that basically said michelle knew death was a very probable possibility for her and she had actually i follow her on social media she had actually been kind of hitting back at people commenting on her appearance lately because she was looking very very thin and ill um but this was one of the last interviews that she did i want to play it for you she was talking about the possibility of returning

And did you see last night they had the state of the state address in the state of Michigan with Governor Gretchen Whitmer speaking. And one of her big things that she talked about was wanting to make it illegal to have cell phones in school for kids like students not being able to have a cell phone in school. Now, this has been a debate before on our show, but this is now possibly going to be a reality if this goes into effect and they can make it possible by the next school year.

I would say going into middle school was probably about the time that she got a phone.

right jody what's going on i was just saying i have a little bit of a different perspective as a teacher in ontario where legislation came into effect last september for us that students are allowed to have their phone at school but when they come into the classroom it has to go into a pouch yeah so it's near them but it's not available to them while we are teaching and we have all noticed throughout our province that it has made a world of difference to the positive for our students students don't mind this they are more engaged in our lessons even at things like pep rallies and assemblies they are more focused on what is actually going on in the moment as opposed to all their heads down and just looking at their phones and they will tell us like in the classroom since nobody else has it it's no big deal and they are more engaged with us as teachers and in the material so it has been a really positive experience for our province and when they announced last year in the summer that they were going to do this a lot of parents and a lot of students were very upset and said it was against their rights and all that kind of stuff but it has made a much much better positive environment for

Kev, interesting when you see this, if you go to an event, whatever it might be, yours was the big, what was the show? Monster Jam. Monster Jam. You took Josiah, I saw that.

I did, yeah. We went on Sunday, and it was an incredible experience. I'm not really into Monster Jams. I went when I was around Josiah's age, and that was, like, the only time I did it. Loved Gravedigger, had an amazing time, and I wanted to kind of recreate that and give Josiah that opportunity for his birthday. It's fine.

Is Josiah a monster jam kind of guy, or was he sitting there going, why is my dad recreating something that he's not into?

So they had three different rounds. One was, like, a style round. They did a race round. Then the final round was freestyle, and that is the most fascinating round. They're spinning around. They're doing backflips. They're jumping in the air. So when it got to that point is when his interest sparked up. So we go and there are people who I guess are kind of like me, novices to it. And then there are people that are fanatics. Like they got the T-shirts, their hair is dyed. Like they are there for Monster Jam. This is their thing. And the people that sat in front of us kind of fit that particular portion of the population, the diehard fans. It was what I'm assuming is a wife and a husband and then they had two children. and then all of a sudden the wife and the husband get up i noticed them leave and i'm like i'm not paying that much attention they leave their kids don't i kind of noticed that but again i'm not really paying attention because it's loud everything's going crazy i happen to look over and the person that's like not quote-unquote security i want to say maybe more like concierge a person you show your ticket to and they got

to guide you to your seat yeah that person is now sitting where the parents were and watching the children while the parents are gone for I promise you it was like 20-25 minutes and when the parents come back they got cotton candy they got shark helmets they got t-shirts they went and got in line and got all the things they wanted to get and left their children in the seats with a stranger Yeah, no. That's weird.

We've talked about people that do that before on the air, and I don't remember who it was. I don't know if it was somebody from our show that was going to do it or whatever, or somebody else who witnesses. Would you leave your purse or wallet with the person that's sitting next to you at Monster Jam and then say, hey, I'm going to the concessions or the bathroom. I'll be right back? You'd never do that.

Absolutely not. That's literally psychotic.

Yeah, that's crazy. I'm guilty of doing that. Hands down. With who? Yeah, so I'll go to like a Red Wings game and I'll leave my big jacket underneath my seat. And I'm like, hey, I'm going to get a drink. Do you mind watching this for me?

But you don't have your keys in there.

Zach, I thought, Zach, when you were saying that, you were saying that you have left your niece and nephew at stuff like this. No.

But in my mind, I'm trying my best to place myself in the mind of a madman. And my thought process is like they kind of look at it like television. Like you'll leave your children in front of something that they're interested in and there's nothing that quote-unquote can go wrong. So in my mind, they're like, oh, they'll just be fine. It's not like they're going to go wander off. They're just looking at Monster Truck.

I would never do it. They're in a seat. They're safe. They're not going anywhere. Yeah.

And I'm thinking that's how Zach, correct me if I'm wrong, that's how you're thinking with your jacket. Like, nobody's leaving this Red Wings game to steal my keys.

And I say it so loud that other people around me can hear it. So they're watching the people next to me, too. No, they're not. Yes, they are. Everyone has my back. No, they're not.

These kids had to be like six, seven. Like, they were young kids.

By the way, call us up and tell us if you've ever let a stranger watch your kids. I want to know about that. But going back to Zach's for a second, I get the coat in the keys, maybe. But the coat, I'm okay with. Because you know what? If you lose your coat, you lose your coat. And you don't want to carry your coat all through whatever venue you're at. But your kids are more than a coat. Your kids are your wallet. You know what I mean? Your kids are your virginity, for God's sakes. You pretty much gave it up. You had children. You're not going to give that up just randomly at some monster gym.

Also, I need to bring my kids with me when I'm going out to get all that stuff because I need somebody to help carry.

They came back with so much stuff. And then I'm kind of like, well, maybe it was so packed in there that they just knew it would be faster to leave them. But that's still not a good idea.

I see this at Imagine a lot where people will go to the theater and they'll bring little teeny kids. I'm telling you little kids and they'll put them all in the aisle, the row, and then they'll go back up and they'll get all their concession food. And I'm thinking to myself, there is a very good chance that somebody could run off with your kids, you know, but they have no fears about that. And then they or they look at you as the strange man in a movie theater full of little kids. I don't know. Can you watch my kids? Like, why would they want some strange person just to sit there and look over them? you know or you what do you do you look for like the lady that looks like she's honest like you look like for somebody that looks like shannon not megan and you say i got called a lady i got

I mean, everybody's talking about this breaking dirty this morning. Hollywood icon Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy, and their dog were all found dead in their Santa Fe home yesterday afternoon. Local media is saying no foul play suspected here, which to all of us, when we were talking about this earlier, says carbon monoxide poisoning, maybe gas leak, something like that. Authorities still not providing a cause of death or saying when the couple might have died. But I do know yesterday afternoon they got a call of an elderly couple that was non-responsive. So they went to Gene Hackman's home and it was the 95-year-old actor and his 60-something-year-old wife. There were two movies. It's a tragic story.

Two Gene Hackman movies that to me were the most amazing ever. One of them, I can't remember the name of it, but it was the movie with Tom Cruise where Gene Hackman was the lawyer at the law firm. Or maybe it was called The Firm, I think. Is it The Firm? Yeah, The Firm.

It is The Firm.

And remember that? Tom Cruise had to have his wife try to sneak and pretend like she was going to have an affair with Gene Hackman. That was good. And Hoosiers, if you're a basketball fan and have never seen Hoosiers, That movie is unbelievable.

I want to add one to the list. He wasn't the main, main actor. It was Will Smith, but I enjoyed him in Enemy of the State. Great movie. That was a great movie, too.

Researchers over at the University of Michigan compiled a list ranking 5,800 foods and beverages based on their effects on longevity. by considering things like additives, fats, calories, sugar content. Sugar-sweetened beverages like Coke or Mountain Dew can shorten your life by 12 minutes for each beverage. Bacon by six minutes, and a double cheeseburger trims just under nine minutes from your life. They found that every hot dog consumed, hot dogs are so bad for you, but I love them, costs a person 36 minutes of healthy life. Chicken wings deduct three minutes and 30 seconds from your life.

The research also revealed that even a single serving of cheese can take over a minute off of a healthy lifespan. I do not care. I love cheese. Now, the study also found that you can add minutes to your life by consuming certain healthier foods. For example, a banana was found to contribute 13 and a half minutes. A portion of baked salmon, another 16 minutes on this earth. And 30 grams of nuts can prolong your life by 26 minutes.

advertises uh this is not okay uh i get my i swear i get like good content for the show just a few occasions i actually go to the gym um but i walked out of the gym i was on my way um or i went to the gym on my way home from the radio station the other day just to get like some a quick workout in. And on my way out, I noticed a guy just sitting in his car in the parking lot smoking a joint. And I don't know if he was going into workout or coming, you know, like coming out of his workout if he had just finished. But I'm like, aren't you negating everything that if you just worked out, you just did? Or how do you go in and work out when you're high? I do not

understand this. I love it. Really? I live for it. It is my favorite thing to do. I work out harder. I don't feel like as much like pain, strain, stress, like energy depletion. I just feel better

and you recover faster. I feel like to me, because I am not a smoker, but it would be the equivalent of having a glass or two of wine and then going into workout, which I could not do. I would vomit.

No, no, and I'll do longer cardio because, like, I love the stair climber. I can't do the stair climber longer than 10 minutes unless I'm blazed, and then I have no idea how much time has passed, and I'm on there for, like, 45 minutes. I'm like, oh, this feels great. You can't stop me.

I think people who are high, as Megan is showing, they can do anything when they're high. Like, I've seen people that get high and go in and, like, you know, teach kids. You know what I mean? That's a fact.

Yeah. Like ever since it became legal, now I feel like I smell it everywhere.

Everywhere. And that's what first tip. I mean, I, I literally walked out of the gym and it was like, boom, a wall of just that smell. And this guy, he was parked next to me and I was a ways down. Like, that's how strong it was.

That loud peck. When I used to smoke, I used to smoke a lot when I was, like, in my early 20s, early mid-20s. And two things would happen. I felt like I was a better driver because I felt like I was more alert, more aware, and I was focused for sure.

Which is not good, by the way, because I've heard people that are drunk do that, and it's just as bad to smoke as it is to drink.

No, I mean, yeah. I mean, y'all know my history with drunk driving. And I was way less focused and way less attentive when I was drunk as opposed to being high. But I used to work at a bank and I was a teller.

Yeah.

And the line was empty and this lady came up and tried to get a cashier's check. And I was high as hell and could not, no way in my mind did I know how to process this cashier's check. And I've done it a thousand times. I put my head down. I looked up. What was once one lady in the line turned out to be seven people in the line. And I had no idea the hell I was doing it.

I would like you to see counting money out to people. Like, you know how they do that?

Why is it that I, for some reason, think that most guys that are heterosexual, like yourself, that they love when their girls are bisexual. But when we all think of the girl that's in a relationship with the bisexual guy, we're all like, ooh, wiener. You know what I mean? Like, honestly, like as a dude, as a guy, but I could see where it would be equally hard. What I mean by this is, what I mean is, here I am looking at these guys and I'm thinking, okay, this boyfriend of Sophia's is a gay man because he's having sex with another dude. But then I can't get it past my head that a girl that has sex with other girls while she's with a guy isn't a gay girl. She's bisexual. You know what I mean? I don't know what it is.

going on okay so we've had like a ton of celebrity deaths this morning all of them just tragic and unexpected uh michelle tractenberg is one of them you might know her from buffy maybe from gossip girl. You may know her from Harriet the Spy, the scene right here. I'm not gonna cry. I'm not gonna cry. Is that the Rosie O'Donnell movie? Yes, yes. She was only 39 years old, found dead yesterday by her mom in her New York City apartment, who was the last person to see her, by the way, just hours earlier. She had a liver transplant towards the end of last year, and that transplant, I'm told caused complications with her liver and her thyroid and so the thought is that her body may have rejected the transplant possibly leading to her death and friends neighbors fans even say she was looking less and less like herself over the past couple of months and she even told a friend at one point um that death was a very probable possibility for her this is one of the last interviews that she did she was actually talking about the possibility of returning to her favorite

role which was gossip girl of course got to talk about georgina sparks she's actually my favorite character that i played because she's such an evil b-a-t-c-h that um it was fun would you ever play her again i'll give you my canned answer for you ready i'll never tell you know what uh i i do

appreciate by the way and i know it sounds weird to say this but you talked about the death also the gene hackman uh death earlier this morning and it looks like that doesn't seem like there's wrongdoing there it looks like it possibly sad gas leak this one here liver transplant yeah i hate when celebrities die and then you hear that either they took their own life or they overdosed or something like that and so when i saw that her death happened yesterday i saw how young she was and right away you think death by suicide right exactly yeah and i it's sad that she uh had that complication possibly you know but man it just makes me at least feel better for their family

you know but sad story tiktok going crazy yesterday amid these rumors that the 15 year old son of courtney kardashian and scott disick mason disick has a secret one-year-old daughter named piper and the kardashian jenner family has been keeping her a secret this all started on reddit in a now deleted post and it was alleged that mason had admitted to some friends via dm on his private instagram that he had a one-year-old daughter and her name was piper and he sees her from time to time and he called her a quote-unquote failed protection so this just like was all over the place but then there are other people saying no this is like a page that pretends to be mason and just spreads a whole bunch of lies i don't know what to believe at this point obviously no comment from the kardashians i don't think he did it yet i think we would have heard about it before now see i disagree with you i think they they will this is a closely guarded

secret they do not want anybody to find out about we wouldn't have found out that uh what's his face tristan thompson cheated like 24 hours before she gave birth like we knew when they were flying out to cleveland we knew when she was in labor we would have found out uh tate mccray on the tonight

so last night confirming to jimmy fallon that it was her very hot pilates friend by the name of glenn powell who connected her with his co-star at the time sydney sweeney to collaborate on the song miss possessive so yeah if you've been wondering if the voice memo in the song is

Well-deserved. But back to your Michigan State story. One of the things. That's right. One of the things that the Spartans practice is half-court shots. During their pregame time, they practice half-court shots. And you see this because you're there. And I think Trey has made the last two. So this is one of those examples on full display preparation. He's been the star of the last two games. Wow.

And lastly, a big story this morning. Michigan could join a growing number of states to ban cell phones in classrooms. Governor Gretchen Whitmer talking about it during her State of the State last night.

I understand the need to be connected to your child, but we can do better. This year, let's pass bipartisan legislation to limit the use of phones in a class.

That's going to be interesting. A lot of parents this morning are in favor of keeping the phones in the kids' hands, and the governor said that she'll come on the air with us tomorrow to explain her reasoning behind the stats that are out that show the states that are taking the phones and telling you that you can't have them. It's making your kids actually learn more. So we'll talk to her.

is it prime and tubi is that where you can watch it uh prime google play apple tv and voodoo first it don't come to tubi until uh may the first okay okay so it's the last 24 i had a soundtrack uh well put it this way i had an album that i did called smoke gang when i got in the cannabis industry and uh i didn't have time to master the album and the album features snoop dog wiz khalifa be real the cypress hill dj premiere west coast on kamel hassan like it's loaded so i wanted to make the 420 release date and didn't get a chance to master it well funny about sound like that being an engineer and decided i'm gonna take this album and re-release it as a soundtrack and say well a soundtrack to what a soundtrack to a movie whose movie i'll write one this is me talking to myself write one okay yeah you can write one you're writing songs for 25 30 years you can write a movie it's a piece of cake plus i had some really good scripts that i had done that have gotten Hollywood attention and big money attention before. So I wasn't a stranger to writing a script. So I put the script together called Mikey Eckstein, my brother, Camille, and was like, church on the move. Let's go. And this was in 2000. This was the end of 2018. Now what happened after that was like a whole new movie that should be shot because there were the drives were stolen twice. A laptop was stolen once. COVID came, I lost my mom, the sound man had to drive for a year. It was just like one thing after another after another. And one thing I'm not is a quitter. So I refused to give up on it.

Hey, tell the story. You talked about your drive getting stolen. You had a high-speed chase because of that, right? Will you explain that story?

Yeah, I was in San Francisco in front of the cookie store. And the guy told, first of all, if you ever go to San Francisco, leave your doors unlocked and don't leave nothing in the car. Nothing. Never. It don't matter who you are, who you think you are. Don't leave nothing in the car. Now, I'm standing in front of the cookie store with the owner. He got two security guards out there with blowers on there like this. Yeah. He tell them, watch that car. We go inside for all the six minutes, the security beating on the window. Somebody done hit the car and grabbed the bag. Now, I go run outside and see that they turn in the corner. We ain't finna just wait and sit here like, you know, let's go. So, this church on the move. So, I got to chasing their ass.

It was a high-speed chase like you see in movies or on cop TV shows. Yes, in real life, bro. You were like banging into cars and all kinds of stuff.

Multiples. You hear me like it was that way. Did you catch him? A few times. Okay. But I'm out of town. I don't have a gun, so it's like, you know what I mean? They running, you know? So it would have been different if I had a blower. I almost flipped the car. I almost flipped that car. T-bone. You know what's funny?

All Detroit talent. We have a lot of, you know, comedians. We have a few comedians, Shawnee D, Martini Harris. We even had Charlie LeDuff, who used to be on Fox 2. Oh, my God. As a scientist in the movie. Mike Martin, Alexandra Kamaj, Kamel Hassan, DJ Thriller. We just had fun. Mikey's even in the movie.

See, that's dope. So from a music perspective, you've always, and Mojo alluded to this a bit earlier, you've always done an amazing job of showcasing Detroit and being protective of Detroit. And Detroit is having a crazy moment right now in hip-hop with skill. The list goes on. Vezo, Ray, everybody's doing their thing. That's right. Do you take that same type of protective mindset and spirit and uplift the actors in the community of the city of Detroit now that you're doing movies?

Yeah, yeah. Yes, all of them. Detroit is my, that's my baby. You know what I mean? It's mine. And, you know, as an overseer, you know, I want to make sure everybody's straight on every aspect. The women, the children, the elderly, the artists, the actors, the writers, the directors, the producers. Shout out to Dennis Reed, Kamal Smith, Rocky and Janiah Black. Like all these, you know, Kamil Hassan, all these great writers, producers and directors. And, you know, anybody doing it, musicians, choirs, comedians, it don't matter. I shut down some comedy shows before. Okay. Yeah, you ain't gonna put nothing from here on that show? Nothing? Get the hell out of here then.

I'm in Florida right now, and the last time that I actually had to, like, leave city and go to Florida, the radio station put me on an airplane down to Florida because we had just got done with the whole M&M interview with his wife, his ex-wife, Kim, and we had her on, and she said some stuff on the air that upset Marshall. marshall got so upset that trick trick obviously is marsh was marshall's protector and is marshall's protector which i get and i respect my protector is shannon she doesn't do as good a job for me protecting me but but this the radio station basically said after that interview this morning trick trick does not like you and because of what you did to marshall so we're going to send you to florida to get you until things cool down no and uh basically i went into witness protection and i went down they flew me to by the way the funniest thing ever was because i i don't know if they thought that i don't know if they thought that trick trick would stand out but they flew me to naples florida right they flew me down to naples florida uh i stayed at jeff sack was house my wife was literally just had a baby so bullying guy he was he was making sure i wasn't getting bullied and um so we go down to we go down there my poor wife i felt bad because she couldn't leave right away because luke was sick so she we had uh um we had carrie our friend carrie who's now Wayne State detective cop, he protected Chelsea at home. and then Chelsea finally made it down there. But long story short, we're good. I'm hoping Marshall and I will be good one day. I hope that, you know, I do say good things about him and obviously still play music. how big was that bag what trump ain't trump throw some money out man i've been i've been having conversations with that man for about a year and a half it ain't about it's about doing what's what's needed to be done for america and not just america but my community you know i mean You're going to go get the bag for your community, you go to the source, you go to the well, you go to where the money is at. You don't go to where the money might be. You go to where it's at. Resources are this way, this is the direction we're going, period.

So quick question because that kind of brings up an interesting thing. So we heard during the election that a lot of the celebrities that were endorsing or showing their love for candidates were getting paid. We heard the Beyonce rumor with Kamala Harris.

I get paid when I know that I've done what was right to find resources to allocate to situations that need to be handled in my community. That's when I win. When these kids are educated properly in my community, that's my payment. When there's help in mental health in my community, when I see mental health being targeted as a problem and resources being allocated to solve that problem, there go my reward right there. It ain't about no money. I got money. And my friends got money. So we good?

So quick question. Could you hear these rumors a little bit about people? But the one rumor I have heard that I don't think goes out a lot, or maybe there are some people that just don't like him and won't believe, I heard that President Trump is amazing when you meet him face-to-face, one-on-one.

He's a cool dude.

People have said that to me.

He was never a problem to nobody until he was labeled Republican. When they gave him, when he joined the gang.

Because the Democrats and Republicans is two gangs. Right, Bloods and Crips type carrying on. You know what I mean? When he joined the Republicans, then, okay, your opposition is the Democrats. And, you know what I mean? Clearly, as history shows, you know, the changeover where black people went from being Republicans to Democrats. And then, of course, that's the side. You know what I mean? Well, not just black people, but all types of different people. You know, you got that side. You got that side. But the problem where I have is we had two choices. Everybody who wants to make a choice of those two gets to pick one of the two. Just because you picked the other one, it do not make you an enemy of nothing.

Well, it's amazing. Well, I will say this to you. I look back at some video of, like, Trump on The View, and Joy Behar, before he ran for any office, was like, you're the greatest. I love you. You're awesome. And then now that you're right, he gets into politics and he's the evil one. He's the antichrist according to everybody else. I do think that politics has gotten so crazy. And I don't know if we'll ever get back to where it once was. Because it used to be that you would lose an election. And when you lost an election, it was like, okay, well, you know what? This is the president for the next four years. It would be like us, you know, being pissed off, so pissed off when our team lost the Super Bowl or, you know, and now you can't move on for the next year. You're hating the other team so much.

And people who root for the, like you cannot be friends or have family get togethers or it's just gotten crazy.

Those are weak people. Those are people that are so insecure within themselves that they have to hate other people for being different than them. Yeah. When you hate you, you indirectly hate yourself so much that anything that don't agree with you, you just like, hey, listen, one thing for sure, two things for certain. You can't change the way people think. That is what's going on in their mind, in their head, where they live through their view, from their point of view, through their eyes. That's their journey. Like, let them think the way they want to think. That go for everybody. So the point of it, the key to it is to not care what nobody thinks.

God, I wish I could be that way. You can't. Just don't give a – Oh, yeah. I like you. Thank you. Yeah. Yeah, he didn't say – He got it. He got it. Trick, trick. I got to ask you a question, though, because this is a big news story today. We may today get the Epstein list. We may know who went to the Epstein Island, the pedophile island. Do you think that there's any people that you would know that have gone to that island, or do you think that there's any? Not from my neighborhood. But they're saying, they're saying. I'm from Seven Mile, cuz. There is.

Hollywood, I ain't got no Hollywood friends like that. Like, Ice Cube ain't gonna be there. That's my brother. You know what I mean? He ain't gonna be on it. Kid Rock ain't gonna be on it. That's my brother.

because, you know, hey. So look, Mojo feel like one of the big names that we're going to see on the list is Jay-Z. I don't think that.

Listen, look at the people he affiliate with, though. You got to look at the people he congregate with. Look at the type of people. These are the people who took that trip. So I wouldn't be surprised. You know what I mean? I wouldn't be surprised.

Bob Pittman has talked numerous times about how he's wanted to do like an iHeartRadio music festival of just Detroit huge superstars. Everything from the old Motown days to current. Would that not be amazing? Super amazing. And you did that when you were over at the stations.

Which was such a good show, by the way. Iconic. Like, I just remember sitting there with my jaw dropped. Like, this is the coolest thing I have been at in the longest time.

Thank you. Did you get chills when you're up there on stage and you're doing Welcome to Detroit with Eminem? And see the sea of people out there and to know that you revitalized that city by doing this. Did you get chills doing that or is that just part of the game? Is it old hat for you?

I love it a lot. So it's really like I have so much fun. It's just so much fun. You know what I mean? I have fun. I train because I perform a lot all over the world. So I train to perform, and I get a joy out of it that's more, I don't know, I think not necessarily chills, but I'm overwhelmed by the fact that I'm having so much fun.

Yeah, it's good stuff.

It's just like, I wrote a song, and look, I'm on stage, all these beautiful people, they smiling, they dancing, I'm smiling, I'm dancing, I'm having fun. It's like, yeah, life is great, you know.

I wonder what that's like, because there are times where I'll hear our radio station promo play, you know, when I'm driving around after the show's over with. And you hear something fun that happened during the show, and it does bring me chills like that, too. I can only imagine for you, if you're driving around listening to Channel 955 in Detroit, and you got Welcome to Detroit playing, I mean, that's got to be awesome.

When it first came out, the way, how much it played, it was really like, that was the part that gave me chills, because it was like, wow, this is something new. Like, I got lots of support from, you know, JLB and, you know, so I would always do all of the shows and play all my music. But it's just when 95, I got it. It was like every fourth song. Accurate. 90-something spins a week. I was like, whoa.

You got to tell Marshall this. share this with him do you know that we do research our iHeart does research on music and you know the number one song as far as songs within the entire company no matter what the format is is lose yourself it is the no it's the number one most uh positive research song when people when that song comes on whether you're you know a 90 year old uh you know uh about ready to die hopefully you don't die if you're 90 i hope you live a couple more years to a birth baby that song is a song that everybody knows so it's got it's that iconic you got an oscar for it i mean

You know eight mile yeah man i went i went to dsa to detroit school of arts i went there for acting i don't want to state championships and acting and then our program got disbanded because of some things and a little bit of my love and my my uh my the ability to reach out for something that i desired and longed for had kind of faltered but i believe that god doesn't make any mistakes and i've still held true to i know for a fact i'm gonna win the oscar i have this crazy determination and thought process, even though that I'm not like physically in some respects taking those steps, everything that I'm doing is going to circle me back around to that point. Well, your audition has to be done live on the show.
