This is Mojo in the Morning. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo.

00:02:00 - 00:02:06 | Speaker 3:

Mojo. This is so tough. And the Rockets red glare.

00:02:09 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 5:

You're not being logical is what I'm saying.

00:02:10 - 00:02:13 | Speaker 1:

This is like an orgasm in a cup.

00:02:18 - 00:02:19 | Unknown:

Showtime.

00:02:21 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 7:

Wow. Oh, my God. It's Mojo in the Morning. St. Patrick's Day, Kennedy's Irish Pub. And I've got a little delay in my headphones, so you know what we're going to play today? We're going to play drunk or delayed. Which D is it? But don't worry about it. I'll figure it out. Hi, guys. How are you? Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show, St. Patrick's Day Live 2023, Kennedy's Irish Pub. Look at all these beautiful people. Hello, beautiful people. Hello.

00:02:53 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 1:

Happy St. Patrick's Day. The crazy part is people are still coming in. There is a line wrapped around the building right now.

00:02:58 - 00:03:06 | Speaker 2:

I just had to move my car. They're like, your car is going to get towed. You've got to move it. There's so many people here. I just parked at the grocery store a half a mile away. I love it.

00:03:06 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 7:

You know what? This is actually a moneymaker, Mike. Grab the Mojo in the Morning Suburban, and let's do a shuttle for $5 a pop. Let's make it happen. All right, guys. We've got a big show for you today. Broadcasting live is always fun. Seeing everything we do live is always even more funner.

00:03:25 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 1:

So much funner.

00:03:27 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 7:

Bone scams, throwback throwdown, the dirty, all the goofiness that we're going to talk about today. Somebody's going to get probably really drunk fast, and I brought a breathalyzer to figure that out. We're going to have fun today. Concert tickets, too, coming up in a little bit. Hi, Mike. Do we get to pick who we think the drunkest is and then compete against each other like March Madness? You know what? That's actually not bad. But you can't say brackets. You have to say brackets. And actually, I don't even know if you can say March Madness because we can get sued for that. We'll come up with another name. We'll call it the Super Bowl. If you call March Madness the Super Bowl, do they sue you for that? All right. Let's get the show started. We got some throwbacks on the way. You can text 95500 if you got a good request. Or Lydia's back working the phones. Aw, Lydia. We'll see you tomorrow, Lydia. That's not fair that Lydia's not here with us. I'm drinking for two today, since she can't be here. All right. And we're going to party tomorrow at Irish on Ionia. Here we go. Let's get the show started after the computer reboots on me.

00:04:32 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 6:

Top of the morning to you.

00:04:33 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 2:

We're live from Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford. Has anybody puked yet? This is Mojo in the Morning.

00:04:41 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

Because it's St. Patrick's Day one, I've got to make it extra special. Here we go. Welcome to the Mojo, the Mojo in the Morning Show. we are mojo mojo in the morning show we're wearing green it's st patrick's day that uh you know it's probably offbeat anyway

00:05:00 - 00:05:02 | Speaker 4:

No, no, you nailed it. That was perfect.

00:05:03 - 00:05:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to sound like Eminem and say, hey, can I get more snare in my headphones? I need to hear the station a little bit, just a little louder if you can. Hi, guys. Happy St. Patrick's Day. It's going to be a tight squeeze here today. We did know that this was going to be the case, but we wanted to celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic Irish pubs in the metro Detroit area, Kennedy's Irish Pub. Founded in, well, I'm going to this area here, 2023. Was it 73? Is that what it was or no? Am I right or no? Oh, I'm going off their Wi-Fi. 1972, I believe. They use that as their password probably. Hi, guys. How's everybody doing? How's everybody feeling for St. Patrick's Day?

00:05:51 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 4:

Looking forward to it. This is a cozy little joint. This is my style. I'm not into, like, you get those big, giant bars that have 7,000 people in them. I like a cozy pub that has character in the walls and a lot of illegal activity over the years. You know a lot of decent men have been kicked out of this bar over the years.

00:06:10 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 1:

This place is so decked out for St. Patrick's Day. I feel like more than any other place we've ever been. I mean, I walked in, and it's so cool.

00:06:19 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 3:

Mike and Megan, first off, I'd like to know, we've done these broadcasts for years, right? we've we've been part of this who gave the engineering people the the three microphones and that's it this show has how many people on it three microphones no wireless microphone

00:06:36 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 2:

wait i feel shocked that we're being treated like the red-headed stepchildren of the show

00:06:40 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

what is going on here how many times have we been out for a broadcast this is amazing

00:06:45 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 1:

we're gonna have to all share microphones uh come get cozy with me i'd rather just go hang

00:06:49 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 3:

how um how are you guys feeling about this whole weekend because honestly i had last night a little bit of anxiety i didn't get to bed till about 11 i had to go to a school fundraiser for luke and came home did some work and then i started getting the anxiety of oh my god oh my god oh my god excited anxiety or so much to do anxiety honestly excited with a lot to do anxiety but so much to do. Like, I was listening to, or I was watching March Madness, so I was watching all that, which obviously there were some crazy upsets yesterday, so that everybody's brackets are pretty much busted by now, right?

00:07:28 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, Arizona losing was a big bust.

00:07:30 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

And then where is Furman? I have no idea. No idea. I picked them. Did you really?

00:07:34 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Just randomly, yeah.

00:07:35 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 3:

Did you know that they said that there's only like .16% of brackets that actually have a perfect bracket right now?

00:07:42 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 5:

I have three brackets, and it's on one of them. I don't know if it's a spoiler or bust bracket, one of them.

00:07:46 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 3:

But I'm getting ready to go to try to lay down and go to bed, and then all of a sudden I started panicking, thinking, and I had to actually reach out to Mike this morning. I didn't bring power cords. I didn't grab stuff at the radio station, so Mike had to run to the radio station for me to go do that. And then I was thinking about tomorrow, and we keep talking all week about we're going to kick it off with kegs and eggs and the slightly messy show going live. Tomorrow, I have no idea when that starts. I started thinking to myself, and I have no idea what time we are doing things in West Michigan. So I'm like trying to freak out about that.

00:08:27 - 00:08:37 | Speaker 5:

8 to 10 is the broadcast. Then you guys or everybody is going on stage at noon. Okay. Noon to 2, I think. We're running around, and then we can do whatever we want. I like that.

00:08:37 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

It's going to be a spit show.

00:08:38 - 00:08:39 | Speaker 5:

Yes. Yeah, oh, absolutely.

00:08:39 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

It's so funny. Last night, Wes came over. He's been gone for the past two weeks, and I was like, I'm going to make a little margarita. And he looked at me, and he goes, are you serious? Save yourself. Start chugging water right now, because the next two days are going to be real sloppy.

00:08:54 - 00:09:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, hearing Mike just say that we don't have to be on stage until noon tomorrow, that just changed my game a little bit now. I can have an extra few pops today.

00:09:03 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Amanda is outside of Kennedy's, and we're going to make her the official correspondent. She's a listener on line number 27. Amanda, hello.

00:09:42 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 3:

it. And you know what? Make sure hey, KP, go grab one shirt for Amanda because Amanda, since she was our first caller in the morning at least gets a shirt. Oh my gosh, what size? Amanda, what size do you want?

00:09:55 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

Extra large would be awesome.

00:09:56 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 3:

Alright, extra large. Okay, you got it. Get her a big one. All right, our official commemorative shirt. We love you, Amanda. Take care of yourself, okay? Love you, guys. See you soon. Have a good day. We love you. Got a lot planned. I mean, we really do. I don't know if we'll get to it all. I mean, we'll be on until the normal time, the 1030 time. But we're going to get the show started with Kid Leroy tickets right now.

00:10:19 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 4:

This mojo in the morning is back in the day. Let's go!

00:10:22 - 00:10:23 | Speaker 3:

Back in the day.

00:10:23 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 4:

What year did this stuff happen?

00:10:24 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 3:

It was the year that 21 Jump Street was made into a reboot movie starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill.

00:10:33 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know the Miranda rights. Look, it obviously starts with you have the right to remain silent. And then do you have the right to remain an attorney? Did you say you have the right to be an attorney?

00:10:45 - 00:10:51 | Speaker 3:

You do have the right to be an attorney. The NHL had a lockout due to contract issues in this year.

00:10:51 - 00:10:59 | Speaker 1:

are not prepared to operate under this collective bargaining agreement for another season, so we need to get to making a deal.

00:10:59 - 00:11:07 | Speaker 3:

And the big song. Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, and Bruno Mars.

00:11:09 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 1:

We will grab

00:11:11 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

a winner, be back with the dirty, and a chance to win Taylor Swift tickets next.

00:11:17 - 00:11:22 | Speaker 4:

Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened. 844-MOJO-LIVE.

00:11:22 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 3:

844-665-6548.

00:11:27 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. What year was this?

00:11:32 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 3:

It was the year 21 Jump Street, starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill hit theaters.

00:11:36 - 00:11:48 | Speaker 4:

I don't even know the Miranda rights. Look, it obviously starts with you have the right to remain silent. And then, do you have the right to remain an attorney? Do you say you have the right to be an attorney?

00:11:48 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 1:

You do have the right to be an attorney if you...

00:11:50 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 3:

The NHL locked out in this year.

00:11:52 - 00:12:00 | Speaker 1:

...are not prepared to operate under this collective bargaining agreement for another season, so we need to get to making it.

00:12:00 - 00:12:08 | Speaker 3:

And Young, Wild, and Free was the big song. We'll go to Elizabeth. Hi, Elizabeth. Where are you from? What town are you from?

00:12:09 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 4:

Hi. I'm from Nova.

00:12:11 - 00:12:14 | Speaker 3:

Nice to have you on here. What do you got going on today?

00:12:15 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 4:

Nothing. I've got to go pick up my daughter in a little bit, and then I'm just going to hang out with her today.

00:12:21 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 3:

You don't sound too thrilled about having to pick up your daughter.

00:12:24 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm the only one who drives, so it's just me.

00:12:28 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right, what year was that? 2012. It was. Congratulations. We're going to set you up with the prize. Hang on the phone. You got Kid Leroy tickets. Congratulations. Oh, sweet.

00:12:41 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 4:

I love him. He's my favorite.

00:12:44 - 00:12:44 | Unknown:

Good.

00:12:44 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 3:

Get a babysitter. EMU is where you're going to be, and we'll set you up with those tickets, okay?

00:12:49 - 00:12:50 | Speaker 1:

Awesome. Thank you.

00:12:51 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 3:

All right. Take care of yourself. Hold on one sec. We'll get you set up with those. Lydia's going to grab your information. Right now, win Taylor Swift tickets. Kicking off her tour this weekend in Arizona. We've got tickets for when she comes through Ford Field in June. Text Taylor to 95500. That's Taylor. Text that to 95500 right now. Standard text and data rates do apply. and you will have a chance to win tickets. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. I just want you to know you ain't crazy because you can't hear, because I can't hear either. Okay, good. But that's okay.

00:13:24 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 2:

I feel so bad I'm trying to flag somebody down. That's okay. We got it.

00:13:29 - 00:13:44 | Speaker 3:

Can't hear in our headphones, but that's okay. Our voices sound so bad right now. We always work up. We do morning voice exercises. We didn't get a chance to do them because... This is not true. There we go. Now we're back. Now we're back. What's going on in the Dirty on the 30s?

00:13:44 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 2:

Well, it is just a matter of time before Megan Fox and her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, throw in the towel on their relationship. Not really a surprise to many people, including me. I am hearing that over and over and over again from multiple sources, with everybody telling me the same thing. She's fed up with him. They're not even speaking to each other at this point. Now, the breakup rumors, which we had heard a couple of months ago, they started ramping up again after Megan showed up to the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty without MGK and also without her engagement ring. That's never good. I'm also hearing that there definitely was some cheating on MGK's part, and we're going to get all of the details about that in the next couple of weeks. So stay tuned. After rumors that Giselle Bündchen and her jujitsu instructor Joaquin Valenti were officially a couple, now I'm hearing it's not him, it's somebody else. So there is a guy, it's just not the hot guy that we've been seeing her with over the past couple of months. A source telling me that Giselle has been spending time with a guy by the name of Jeffrey Soffer. He's a billionaire hotel owner. He was once married to a fellow supermodel, Elle McPherson. And get this, he's a really good friend of Tom Brady's. Oh, wow. Which is kind of funny.

00:14:57 - 00:14:57 | Speaker 3:

That happens.

00:14:57 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

David Beckham, also one of his really good buddies.

00:15:00 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 5:

But allegedly, Giselle and Jeff have been seeing each other for several months now. They meet up secretly about once a week. And yesterday, she seemed to respond to this media, this rumor on social media, I should say, and she wrote, everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth. I'm thinking she's talking about.

00:15:23 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 1:

Who was the, there was somebody recently that just got out of a relationship. There was a breakup and stuff. And everybody was saying that was like Giselle written all over it. You have to text us 95-5-0-0.

00:15:34 - 00:16:26 | Speaker 5:

He's in a relationship and looks very happy. But every time Pete Davidson breaks up with somebody, you know. New York Mets pitcher Edwin Diaz is most likely out for this season. Ended up tearing his patellar tendon. Ow. I don't even know what that is, but it sounds painful. I think it's like by your knee. Patella is your knee, right? I don't know. But he was celebrating that big win at the World Baseball Classic. We talked about this yesterday. He was on the field, and he and his Puerto Rico teammates were congratulating each other. During that celebration, he collapsed to the ground and was in some pretty major pain. Yesterday, he had surgery and will likely miss at least the next eight months. And that's a huge, huge blow to the Mets because they made the playoffs last year. They were entering this season pretty darn optimistic that they could be contenders for a World Series title without him. I don't know if that's happening.

00:16:26 - 00:16:37 | Speaker 1:

They're going to have to go get another closer. You know what I'm amazed by? I'm amazed at people that are raring and ready to go at 640 in the morning for St. Patrick's Day. Look at these people.

00:16:37 - 00:16:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. It's unbelievable. Well, look at your co-host right here next to you. Look at this guy. Hey. He's itching.

00:16:42 - 00:16:44 | Speaker 2:

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning. That's right.

00:16:45 - 00:17:12 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, please promise me you will go to the Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com to see the photo of this. A shopper at Aldi was like, you know what? I'm already in the mood for Easter. It might not be St. Patrick's Day yet, but okay. Picked up a bag of marshmallow bunnies and chicks. At least that's what the marshmallows were supposed to look like. But the yellow and pink bunnies and chicks looked like a bag of dongs. Like 10,000% they looked like penises.

00:17:12 - 00:17:14 | Speaker 2:

We're going to have to put this on our social media.

00:17:14 - 00:17:47 | Speaker 5:

It is so good. One person tweeted, definitely something you'd see floating in the drinks at a bachelorette party rather than in the Easter section of Aldi's seasonal aisle. And here's the best part. Aldi responded to this on Twitter. The Aldi UK Twitter account retweeted the photo of the Easter marshmallows that look like penises, the wieners, and said, we can't even defend this one. He was kind of a dick. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on thedirtthemorning.com.

00:17:47 - 00:18:04 | Speaker 4:

Get the stories you'll talk about all day on Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. And another phone scam in minutes. Now stop talking and finish your whiskey. This is Mojo in the Morning, live from Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford.

00:18:05 - 00:18:34 | Speaker 1:

A top of the morning to you. Coming up here in just a little bit, the first official Irish blessing and toast from Spike. It's not a St. Patrick's Day broadcast until we have that. We're going to do a phone scam right now. Spike called John up. He's a coach for one of these great travel teams in our area, and he was arranging some travel for a big tournament that they have coming up. And can you believe the coach's wife wants to phone scam him? It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam.

00:18:34 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 3:

We will, we will scam you. Sorry, it's a catchy song. It's your home of phone scams. Mojo in the Morning.

00:18:44 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 2:

Hello? Hi, twerking hard or hardly twerking. Is this John?

00:18:52 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, this is John.

00:18:53 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 2:

Hi, John. Smiley Wills, real name, honest to goodness, so please don't hurt my feelings by making a joke about it. I'm calling from ****** in. Okay. Have you ever heard of the Fenton Family Forever Fun Fest?

00:19:07 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 6:

I don't think so, no.

00:19:08 - 00:19:29 | Speaker 2:

Okay, well, here's the thing. There's this children's entertainer convention going on, And it's at our hotel the same time that you have your reservation. I mean, you should see these people walking around like clowns, mascots, balloon animal artists, magicians. You know, this weekend's going to be a blast. Anyway, there was a computer error, and they should not have offered you rooms this weekend because all of our rooms have been booked.

00:19:31 - 00:19:32 | Speaker 6:

What do you mean by that?

00:19:32 - 00:19:36 | Speaker 2:

We can't honor your reservation, so we just need to make some different accommodations.

00:19:37 - 00:19:47 | Speaker 6:

Well, no, that's not—that doesn't work. I booked nine rooms because I have a whole bunch of kids and chaperones and everything going in for this tournament this weekend.

00:19:47 - 00:19:54 | Speaker 2:

Right. Weekdays are much better here. We have a continental breakfast with a free breakfast pizza. Can I move your reservation to the weekday of your choice?

00:19:54 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 6:

No, that doesn't work because the tournament's on the weekend. I reserve those days specifically because that's...

00:20:00 - 00:20:01 | Speaker 4:

that's when the tournament happens.

00:20:01 - 00:20:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, a tournament. Oh, I love games. Well, maybe what I could do is I could find you a room at one of our partner hotels down the street.

00:20:09 - 00:20:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, no. I booked my rooms there, and it's right next to the field where we're going to be playing. You know, I have a confirmation saying that those are the rooms I get, so I want those rooms.

00:20:19 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 3:

Yes, but they never should have sent you that confirmation. Yeah.

00:20:22 - 00:20:24 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, you know, that's not my fault.

00:20:24 - 00:20:50 | Speaker 3:

Well, maybe I can find you in a room right across the street, our sister hotel because that's close how many rooms do you need no i need nine rooms and i need in that building nine rooms yeah we'll see but i told you about the thing going on here the fenton forever fun fest and then across the street they have the indoor plant horticulturist and midwest cactus society so i don't think we're going to be able to do anything for you i want the room that

00:20:50 - 00:20:55 | Speaker 4:

i reserved two months ago i have a confirmation email but listen to me sugar donut a reservation

00:20:55 - 00:21:02 | Speaker 3:

isn't a reservation if there's no room. Now, I want to help your little rugrats. How many rooms do you really need? Can we squeeze everybody into four rooms?

00:21:03 - 00:21:10 | Speaker 4:

No, there's no way. We're already squeezing everybody into nine rooms. We would all be on top of each other if it was four rooms.

00:21:10 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 3:

Oh, there is no way I'm going to be able to live up to your potential today. Okay, how about this?

00:21:15 - 00:21:17 | Speaker 4:

Who can I talk to? Who can I talk to?

00:21:17 - 00:21:19 | Speaker 3:

Well, you could talk to me. Two months.

00:21:19 - 00:21:24 | Speaker 4:

It's been two months that I've confirmed these rooms, that I've had these rooms reserved.

00:21:24 - 00:21:25 | Speaker 3:

Can you hang on a second?

00:21:26 - 00:21:35 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Can't believe this. I mean,

00:21:36 - 00:21:48 | Speaker 3:

hello, sir. Yeah. We're out of luck. I'm sorry. What do you mean I'm out of luck? Well, you can lead a horse to water, but I can't believe it's not butter.

00:21:48 - 00:22:06 | Speaker 4:

Do you understand the power of a bad review? I am a social media master. I will get on Twitter. I will get on Yelp. I will get on TripAdvisor. I will get on every single website, and I will make sure that that burns down to the ground unless you get me those rooms.

00:22:07 - 00:22:16 | Speaker 3:

Social media, master? That's a thing? Yeah, it's a thing. Now give me the manager to your hotel, please. Well, I am the manager on duty, sir. I'm sorry.

00:22:17 - 00:22:20 | Speaker 4:

All right, well, then I want the number to your corporate office.

00:22:20 - 00:22:25 | Speaker 3:

Oh, listen, have a root beer and take a seat. You're going to give yourself guest bubbles getting all upset like that.

00:22:25 - 00:22:30 | Speaker 4:

This is so f***ing, un-f***ing believable, incredibly un-f***ing professional.

00:22:31 - 00:22:32 | Unknown:

F***!

00:22:32 - 00:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Sir, can I be honest with you? This is actually Spike from the Mojo in the Morning Show, and you've just been phone scammed.

00:22:40 - 00:22:42 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

00:22:44 - 00:22:47 | Speaker 4:

All right, you guys are a*****.

00:22:47 - 00:22:52 | Speaker 3:

Hey, have fun, coach. Thanks. If you could deal with me, you could deal with nine screaming kids.

00:22:52 - 00:22:54 | Speaker 4:

It's about nine rooms worth, yeah.

00:22:56 - 00:23:08 | Speaker 1:

We will, we will scam you. You've been phone scammed. It's Mojo in the Morning's world-famous phone scams.

00:23:09 - 00:23:42 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning, let's do the five. Don't promise. Well, yeah, it depends. How is everybody doing? Is everybody doing good? We're good. Waterford. What's up? Who's from Waterford? Make some noise. God love ya. It's nice to have you guys here. Hey, happy 50th anniversary to this beautiful bar! That way, no, no, no, no. Come on, you do that for like a 49th birthday. Happy 50th! 00:23:43 - 00:23:54 | Speaker 3:

All right. Kennedy's is a staple here in Metro Detroit. They say that this is the place that St. Patrick first fed Guinness to a snake or something like that.

00:23:55 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 2:

I'm not sure what the exact thing was. We're going to do, so we have a contest that we do every single morning right around this time. It's called the 5 at 6.55, and we're going to do that, and then we've got an Irish blessing for you.

00:24:05 - 00:24:06 | Speaker 1:

00:24:27 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

We have to actually thank our friends from Zot Ford, which is over in Holly, for making our shirts today, and Steve Guevara. 00:29:52 - 00:30:00 | Speaker 2:

All right, raise your glass. This is official. We can now start drinking, and you have to drink, because in heaven there is no beer, so we have to drink it here. I'd like to...

00:30:00 - 00:30:32 | Speaker 4:

Let the fun begin. Yeah. Is that root beer? What are you drinking? This is a pint of the black stuff. This is Guinness. And here's a classic Irish drinking game I'd like to teach you. It's called Never Stop Drinking. Good luck. Good luck. Happy St. Patrick's day. Sometimes I drink coffee just to surprise my liver. Some people don't seem amused. Some people

00:30:32 - 00:30:35 | Speaker 5:

00:30:35 - 00:31:07 | Speaker 3:

00:31:23 - 00:31:28 | Speaker 3:

00:31:28 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

Happy St. Paddy's.

00:31:46 - 00:31:47 | Speaker 1:

Happy St. Paddy's.

00:31:48 - 00:31:52 | Speaker 3:

What's the parish priest over at St. Joe's?

00:31:52 - 00:32:00 | Speaker 1:

St. Joseph's. Well, it used to be Father Mike, and now we have my Father John over there. And then there's so many praise. Question for you. Father Paul.

00:32:00 - 00:32:02 | Speaker 3:

Did he say we can eat corned beef today? That's all I wanted to know.

00:32:02 - 00:32:05 | Speaker 1:

I'm still going on this. There was a dispensation today. All right.

00:32:05 - 00:32:07 | Speaker 4:

Well, Father Spike says it's okay today.

00:32:07 - 00:32:08 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, Father Spike.

00:32:08 - 00:32:13 | Speaker 1:

That's awesome. All right. Corned beef and cabbage for everyone. We'll go to confession tomorrow and communion on Sunday.

00:32:13 - 00:32:16 | Speaker 3:

Nobody wants to eat corned beef on Monday, so I'll give it up on Monday.

00:32:16 - 00:32:21 | Speaker 4:

I had some last night, so now I got the cabbage farts. I hope you don't mind. It's going to be really bad.

00:32:21 - 00:32:25 | Speaker 3:

Hey, get Mike over here. Scream for Mike to come over here if you want to talk to him.

00:32:25 - 00:32:26 | Speaker 4:

Mike, come over, Miguel.

00:32:28 - 00:33:42 | Speaker 3:

If you want to witness this, we're going to continue through the morning. Do TikTok live. Do Instagram live. Follow us, Mojo, in the morning. So I got to tell you guys a funny story about Mike. so you know i i had mentioned to mike months ago before you know this day that i wanted mike to stay at my house because we always end up putting him up at a nice hotel but to be perfectly honest with you i've got empty rooms in my house because my two oldest sons don't live with us joe's down in florida and jacob's in college in chicago so i said to mike i go mike stay with us so he reaches out to me because we didn't communicate in the last you know 48 hours or so about this and he reaches out and said are you still okay with me you know staying and i said yeah no problem and then i realized i had a fundraiser at luke's school yesterday so i said okay yeah cool come i'm going to this fundraiser with chels for two hours just come and hang at my house yeah luke's gonna be there you chill out whatever he wouldn't do it no no no you said nobody was gonna be there Well, I said initially nobody was going to be there. That's what I thought. That's right. And then I found out that Luke was going to be there. But that doesn't have anything to do with it. Why didn't you say? Why still would you not come to my house with nobody there?

00:33:42 - 00:34:11 | Speaker 2:

Because with nobody there, we're close. Like, we're close, Mojo. But I don't think we'll stay alone at your house when nobody's there close yet. What are you afraid is going to happen, though? I don't understand that. With my luck, with my luck, everything and anything that can happen will happen while you're gone. And then I got to explain why your pipes burst while you're gone. Oh, come on. I just don't know that we're at the stay at your house when you're not there level yet. Have you ever Airbnb'd before? That's not the same. I'm paying for that.

00:34:12 - 00:34:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, but still, though, honestly, you're staying at my house, me casa, su casa. Yeah, but that... What do the Irish say? Stay, you little bastard. We say, where's the beer fridge? I mean, would you have been weirded out having somebody stay at your house? Not at all. You guys are closer.

00:34:30 - 00:34:35 | Speaker 5:

It's different because... No, he's saying stay. If you would have come to my house, I wouldn't care if you were alone.

00:34:35 - 00:34:46 | Speaker 3:

No, but he doesn't feel close enough to me. No, I know. This bothers me that Mike doesn't feel close enough to me to come to my house and be able to be in my house with me not there. I'm worried that there's something wrong with Mike.

00:34:46 - 00:34:50 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, like you're shady and we don't know it and you're scared that that was going to come out. That's the thing?

00:34:50 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 3:

Megan, tell me what I'm going to say. Is there something shady about this guy? Everything. Is there the reason why he wouldn't stay at my house? Is it because he probably was going to rob me or something? Or what's the story?

00:35:00 - 00:35:11 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, see, I would go to your house just to look through your cabinets. I'm dying for that. I'm really dying to see what's in the medicine cabinet. But do you have, are you like a recovering sticky fingers? Like, would you take something?

00:35:11 - 00:35:12 | Speaker 7:

What'd you say?

00:35:12 - 00:35:13 | Speaker 4:

Did you use to steal stuff?

00:35:13 - 00:35:23 | Speaker 7:

Would you be worried that you would be stealing stuff? No, no, no. I'm worried that everything's going to break while I'm there. And your stuff is a lot nicer than my stuff.

00:35:24 - 00:35:31 | Speaker 6:

I can't afford to fix your stuff. Listen, if you came to my house and we were there and broke something, I wouldn't charge you for breaking it.

00:35:31 - 00:35:38 | Speaker 7:

Yes, but then I can explain to you, look it, this broke while I was here. But when you're not there, I would not.

00:35:39 - 00:35:58 | Speaker 6:

And actually, Chelsea felt really bad about that. And Chelsea felt bad enough that she was like, is Mike okay? She thought you were driving in the morning. I'm like, no, no, the station puts him up at a hotel and stuff. But it would have been nice to have you there. And remember, the last time that you did stay at my house, you found some weed in my son Joe's room. Yeah. Yeah? I actually left some on your pillow.

00:35:59 - 00:36:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man. Oh, man. Did you just want some alone time?

00:36:03 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 6:

That's what I think he wanted. Is that it? He wanted to rub the old shillelagh.

00:36:08 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, exactly.

00:36:11 - 00:36:14 | Speaker 6:

Delaney, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. How are you?

00:36:16 - 00:36:16 | Speaker 3:

Good. How are you?

00:36:17 - 00:36:18 | Speaker 6:

Good. Where are you right now?

00:36:19 - 00:36:25 | Speaker 3:

Well, I'm outside of Kennedy's. Me and my friend came from Windsor in Ontario, and we don't know where to park.

00:36:25 - 00:36:27 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. I know the parking's a little bit of a mess.

00:36:28 - 00:36:33 | Speaker 5:

Park down the street in the grocery store and just play Frogger across the four-lane highway. Just be careful.

00:36:33 - 00:36:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, what's the name of the grocery store?

00:36:36 - 00:36:40 | Speaker 5:

Huron Foods. I don't think I'm supposed to tell people to park there, but we just did.

00:36:41 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 6:

Actually, just be careful wherever you go, but my suggestion is this. Just leave your car running off of what street is this right out in front of here?

00:36:49 - 00:36:51 | Speaker 5:

Huron Street. This is Huron Street?

00:36:51 - 00:36:54 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, so just leave your car running. The Waterford police don't mind.

00:36:55 - 00:36:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, love that, love that.

00:36:57 - 00:37:00 | Speaker 6:

Delaney, are you Irish? You have to be with a name like that.

00:37:01 - 00:37:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I believe I am. Can't confirm.

00:37:05 - 00:37:06 | Speaker 6:

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you, okay?

00:37:07 - 00:37:08 | Speaker 3:

See you guys soon.

00:37:09 - 00:37:13 | Speaker 5:

Listen, I started drinking last night just to practice, you know, just to get a few in.

00:37:13 - 00:37:14 | Speaker 4:

See, I had to save up and hydrate.

00:37:14 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. I had to take a bus home last night. And I know it's no big deal for you, but I've never driven a bus before, so it was horrible. I've got to find out where I took it from. Thank you.

00:37:26 - 00:37:32 | Speaker 6:

Thank you. By the way, you're all day. Wow. He's got three and a half hours more of material. Yes. Set to go.

00:37:32 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 2:

And all day tomorrow. Don't go anywhere. Don't miss this in Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes.

00:37:40 - 00:37:55 | Speaker 4:

Did you stay up to the middle of the night to listen to the new four Taylor Swift songs? Because I know a lot of people did. We'll talk about that. Also, Ben Affleck disclosing the reason he looked so miserable at the Grammy Awards. We'll get into that coming up in the Dirty.

00:37:55 - 00:38:04 | Speaker 2:

Who is seen with who? Who's banging who? And what will you be talking about all day? Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30 in minutes. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:38:05 - 00:38:38 | Speaker 6:

Oh, yes. Oh, yes. By the way, Kennedy's Irish Pub. I have the Wikipedia now. They actually have their own Wikipedia. Kennedy's Irish Pub was started back in 1972 by Bill and Cheryl Kennedy. And now they are on to their fourth generation of people that are taking this over. And one of the very nice people that's right next to you, Megan, we asked this nice lady. So I'm assuming that that's Bill and Cheryl's daughter, right? Is that right here?

00:38:38 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 1:

Are you Bill and Cheryl's daughter? I am.

00:38:40 - 00:38:43 | Speaker 6:

What is your name? Erin. Erin.

00:38:43 - 00:38:44 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Erin.

00:38:44 - 00:38:48 | Speaker 6:

Erin. Is it weird to ask her if she's gone bra-less today? Erin?

00:38:49 - 00:38:53 | Speaker 1:

I am not asking her that. No. Also, no, I'm not asking her that.

00:38:54 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 6:

Erin, come on up here. Come on up, guys. Come on up. Erin, what's your good-looking son's name?

00:39:00 - 00:39:00 | Speaker 1:

Michael.

00:39:01 - 00:39:16 | Speaker 6:

Michael. Michael, Michael, Michael. So, okay, real quick. Erin and Michael, you guys are now, Erin, you are the third generation. Michael, you're the fourth generation, is that right, of this beautiful place? That's right. Wow. What in the heck, man? Why did you not become a doctor or a lawyer?

00:39:17 - 00:39:19 | Speaker 7:

Oh, rethinking my decision right now.

00:39:19 - 00:39:22 | Speaker 1:

Oh, Mojo, don't be telling him that.

00:39:22 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 6:

Erin, this is amazing, though. 50 years. And your parents started this thing, huh?

00:39:27 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, in 1972.

00:39:29 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 6:

So the story of them starting this, was Dad working automotive or anything at the time? Or what was he doing?

00:39:34 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 1:

No, my dad was a Detroit policeman.

00:39:37 - 00:39:37 | Speaker 6:

Really?

00:39:37 - 00:39:46 | Speaker 1:

And he did not retire. He actually stopped working the police force and bought a bar here in Waterford.

00:39:46 - 00:39:54 | Speaker 6:

Wow. Yeah. And back in that day, Waterford was out in the sticks, wasn't it? It was where people went on the weekends to go swim in Cass Lake, probably, right?

00:39:54 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, the one thing about Waterford is, though, the people are true. They are the best.

00:40:00 - 00:40:01 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. They support.

00:40:03 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 2:

Waterford cares. And, you know, it's funny because way back when, and actually we talked about this when I came in. I've been in here a million times. Luke goes to school at Notre Dame Prep, but Notre Dame Prep's smaller school, Marist, was where St. Ben's is. Yeah. So it was right there. So all us parents, on parent-teacher nights or if we were, you know, going up for, like, a fundraiser or whatever it was, would come here and get schnockered, and then we

00:40:29 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 4:

would end up going over to... He loved that word.

00:40:30 - 00:40:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's Irish, so. And then we would come here and hang out here, and you guys would kick our butts out of here and say, you got kids, get your kids out of here.

00:40:38 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 4:

Will you be kicking people out today? Are you just planning on that? I hope not. I mean, tonight. Like, they're not going to want to leave.

00:40:45 - 00:40:48 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I don't know. We'll see what the resistance is.

00:40:48 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:40:50 - 00:40:53 | Speaker 2:

Michael, question for you, buddy. So you're how old?

00:40:53 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 1:

26. 26.

00:40:54 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 2:

I know that you actually are a St. Mary's guy, right? Went to St. Mary's?

00:40:58 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but before that, he went to Notre Dame. I know he did.

00:41:01 - 00:41:04 | Speaker 2:

He was a hockey player. He had to do some hockey, right?

00:41:04 - 00:41:05 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:41:05 - 00:41:09 | Speaker 2:

Michael, how many of your friends are going to be coming here today wanting free booze?

00:41:10 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 1:

We'll have to count on a couple hands here. Hopefully, most of them are coming to work to help me out here because we need it. So as long as you're coming to work, come on in.

00:41:19 - 00:41:40 | Speaker 2:

You know what this place reminds me of? It reminds me of something you would see, like, in Boston. You know what I mean? it has that feel to it it's got that cool Irish feel and you guys have kept up pretty much all the originals and done a really nice job the amazing thing is that Cheryl's in the back, she's right in the office right she's counting the cash right now are you bringing her the cash to make sure she can

00:41:40 - 00:41:52 | Speaker 1:

count it? Constantly, that's her job you know, she's 84 years old she opened this business comes in 7 days a week that's the pride and soul of this business it's our joy, working with her

00:41:52 - 00:42:36 | Speaker 2:

every day it's it's truly a blessing cheryl we got a lot of people with a lot of 20s and hundreds here they're going to be spending some money today thank you guys for coming for letting us come out thank you so much thank you thank you it's really awesome to uh to be at a cool place like this so i wanted to uh ask you guys a uh a question what kind of drunk are you do you guys do you guys have like an idea of like what kind of drunk you are because this weekend i feel like i changed the the drunk that i was oh really yeah i so this weekend i did a little bit drinking in chicago for saint patrick's day yeah and i i had five old fashions first off you should never have more than one old-fashioned because who knows how much sugar is in an old and second off mojo should

00:42:36 - 00:42:40 | Speaker 4:

never have more than one half of an old-fashioned because you are such a lightweight this is not a

00:42:40 - 00:42:45 | Speaker 3:

time to be thinking about sugar in your drink come on but that's like more of a it's more of a

00:42:45 - 00:42:49 | Speaker 4:

cocktail like a sipping cocktail you know what i mean yeah you drink you know if you were you down

00:42:49 - 00:43:21 | Speaker 2:

in them oh i was like chugging so it was going down so easy and so smooth and it was so tasty that i was enjoying them so much and i realized this weekend that i went from being a happy drunk to a sloppy drunk so i i'm going to throw out types of drunks and i want you to tell me what kind of drunk you are all right the happy drunk the sloppy drunk the sentimental drunk which those are the worst drunks the infantile drunk why are you pointing at me the violent drunk right over

00:43:21 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 4:

here oh i mean i do gymnastics so i break things but the touchy feely drunk maybe that's you that

00:43:28 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 2:

might be me the broken drunk the one that's drowning their feelings and sorrows and stuff

00:43:36 - 00:43:41 | Speaker 4:

where's megan mick yeah i always get some tears from she's always crying no no you're the dancing

00:43:41 - 00:44:10 | Speaker 2:

drunk the dancing drunk's a good one how about the manic drunk the the manic drunk this person that you know tries to manage everything in one night and can't figure it out in one night so they don't know what to do so they get manic about it the professional drunk that might be there you go and then the person that always wants to have cookies baked drunk the one that the horny drunk yeah which which drunk is you don't see a lot of horny drunks you see them

00:44:10 - 00:44:14 | Speaker 3:

If they're enjoying the other green, if they're getting baked, then I think you see a lot more of the horniness.

00:44:14 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 4:

Because usually if you're drinking too much, you just want to lay down at the end.

00:44:18 - 00:44:30 | Speaker 2:

Wait, do you feel, wait, you're telling me that you feel like you become more, you know, eager to bake cookies when you're doing the green more than when you're drinking? I think so.

00:44:30 - 00:44:45 | Speaker 3:

I think drinking, you're full, you're sloppy, you're just, you're partying. I don't think you necessarily think, I mean, not to say when I get back from the bar, we don't have our fun. But I just think there's not as many of those drunks out there as the other categories.

00:44:45 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want you to call in and tell us what kind of a drunk you are. Karen, what's going on? Karen.

00:44:58 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Karen.

00:45:00 - 00:45:01 | Speaker 5:

Hey, hey, how you doing?

00:45:02 - 00:45:04 | Speaker 2:

We're good. What's going on? I got a tickle in my throat.

00:45:05 - 00:45:07 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'll be there soon, Mojo.

00:45:08 - 00:45:09 | Speaker 2:

What kind of drunk are you, Karen?

00:45:10 - 00:45:11 | Speaker 4:

I'm a sleeping drunk.

00:45:12 - 00:45:13 | Speaker 3:

Totally sleeping.

00:45:14 - 00:45:15 | Speaker 2:

Oh, you're a sleepy drunk.

00:45:15 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I get that way sometimes, too, especially if it's wine. I go right to sleep, yep. Yeah, I'm with you. It depends on what I'm drinking, for sure. Yeah. That'll do it. I'll see you guys real soon. We'll see you soon, too. Okay, get your butt over here.

00:45:30 - 00:45:40 | Speaker 2:

00:46:03 - 00:46:08 | Speaker 2:

00:46:08 - 00:46:18 | Speaker 5:

00:46:20 - 00:46:21 | Speaker 5:

I'm coming out today.

00:46:22 - 00:46:23 | Speaker 2:

All right, good. We'll see you in a second.

00:46:24 - 00:46:24 | Speaker 5:

All right.

00:46:25 - 00:46:32 | Speaker 2:

We appreciate you. If I ignore what you're saying, it's because I truly cannot hear you. But Christine, what's going on? What kind of drunk are you?

00:46:33 - 00:46:35 | Speaker 6:

Hi, I'm a pass-out drunk.

00:46:35 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no.

00:46:36 - 00:46:50 | Speaker 6:

Here's the best place you passed out. I passed out. So at my Bachelorette party, I passed out, and I had to be carried back to the car and carried up the B&B stairs to my bed, and I don't remember any of it. Oh, no. Photographic evidence.

00:46:51 - 00:47:02 | Speaker 2:

Last week in Chicago, I saw more people being carried by friends. And I felt so bad because it was always the big guy or the big girl that had to do the carry-in.

00:47:03 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 1:

You know? And they're like carrying. It was unbelievable. But then you're also putting a pause in everybody's party because now they got to take care of you. They got to get you home. And it's like, man, come on, pace yourself a little bit.

00:47:14 - 00:47:29 | Speaker 2:

There was one on Rush Street. I'm telling you, I think her friends got so upset with her, They were going to leave her right there. Noelle, what's happening? What kind of drunk are you? Hi, Noelle. Is there Noelle there?

00:47:29 - 00:47:36 | Speaker 5:

Hi, Noelle. Hi, I'm the honest drunk. Will you tell my secret?

00:47:38 - 00:47:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, she's got a bad cell connection there. Bad cell. She said that she's the honest drunk. Oh, that could be fun. That leads to the fighting drunk. Spike, you may like Katie.

00:47:49 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 2:

Katie? Hi. Hey, what kind of drunk are you?

00:47:56 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 5:

The kissing drunk.

00:47:57 - 00:47:58 | Speaker 2:

The kissing drunk.

00:47:59 - 00:48:00 | Speaker 5:

That's a good one.

00:48:00 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you can come out here with us.

00:48:03 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 5:

You can kiss all my ass, okay?

00:48:05 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 2:

That's it.

00:48:07 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 5:

I haven't been in a very long time, but it was definitely a place to have it.

00:48:12 - 00:48:15 | Speaker 1:

Well, get on up here and kiss Mojo's Blarney Stone.

00:48:15 - 00:48:29 | Speaker 2:

there's no time like the president take care of yourself um how about this one Sasha I like this one Sasha you saw some crazy drunks what were the drunks that you would say so I worked in

00:48:29 - 00:48:45 | Speaker 4:

downtown Detroit can't say the name but I used to call them the bathroom problem drunk The bathroom problem? Yeah, it's called I would watch women poop on themselves. Oh, no. And we would have to carry them all the way out.

00:48:46 - 00:48:53 | Speaker 1:

You know, we might have just found the worst drunk. I thought the fighters were the worst, but if you lose all bodily control and function.

00:48:55 - 00:48:57 | Speaker 4:

Yep, that's my life.

00:48:58 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 1:

Sorry about that. Thanks for the call, Sasha.

00:49:00 - 00:49:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you're welcome. Thanks for everything. Bye.

00:49:02 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 2:

Brooke, go to Brooke here next. Brooke, what kind of drunk are you, Brooke?

00:49:08 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 5:

I am a peer pressure drunk. I want everyone else to be super drunk with me.

00:49:12 - 00:49:23 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yes. That's my friend Ashley. Yep, same. Really? She wants everyone else to be drunk with her. And it's a good time. You're a good time. It is. It's the best time when everyone's wasted.

00:49:24 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, you've got to stay on the same level. It's no fun if somebody's sober and somebody's wasted.

00:49:29 - 00:49:36 | Speaker 2:

Right, right. The peer-pressure drunk is always great unless it's at a function that you're not supposed to be peer-pressuring.

00:49:38 - 00:49:40 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:49:41 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 2:

All right, Dirty on the 30, what do you got trending this hour?

00:49:43 - 00:49:59 | Speaker 3:

Let's start with a little Taylor Swift. Taylor released four new tracks overnight. They were available at midnight. I know so many of my friends stayed up until like 1 in the morning sitting there and listening and dissecting these things. In celebration of the Ares Tour, the four tracks include re-recording.

00:50:00 - 00:50:18 | Speaker 1:

of her contributions to the 2012 soundtrack to The Hunger Games, Eyes Open and Safe and Sound, featuring Joy Williams and John Paul White, as well as, if this was a movie, Taylor's version. And then the fourth one was a never-before-heard song called All of the Girls You Loved Before. So Swifties were very, very happy about that.

00:50:18 - 00:50:31 | Speaker 4:

Well, she's ramping up for the big tour to start. It kicks off this weekend. Her social media has been in overdrive this week after not posting much this year. She's really started going crazy with behind-the-scenes tour stuff. I love it.

00:50:31 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 1:

Ben Affleck denies having a bad time at this year's Grammy Awards, even though he looked absolutely freaking miserable. He claims his unenthused face was due to Trevor Noah, who was hosting the show, catching him off guard for a skit. And Ben said he legitimately didn't know the cameras were rolling at that time. He simply thought the camera operators were framing for a live shot. That was going to happen a little bit later on. And so apparently he said he turned to J-Lo and he said jokingly, as soon as they start rolling, I'm going to slide away from you and leave you sitting next to Trevor. To which she replied, you better effing not leave. And that was that interaction. That was that face of just disgust that we saw from them. He insisted to The Hollywood Reporter that he actually had a great time at the show. And while we're talking about Ben, he's also in the Dirty this morning for revealing that back in March of 2017, he went to rehab for alcohol addiction. Now, we knew he was having some issues, but I think this might be the first time that he's actually confirming that. He addressed the controversy that followed some comments he made a couple of years ago. He was doing an interview with Howard Stern, and in that interview, he spoke about his marriage to Jennifer Garner and his drinking. And he kind of alluded to the fact, to Howard, that his marriage, that she drove him to drink because he felt so trapped in that relationship. So Ben is now explaining, I had a really painful experience where I did an interview where I was really vulnerable. And the entire pickup was something that was not only not right, it was actually the opposite of what I meant. He said he believes the quotes, his quotes from that interview were made into clickbait. And he said, it did not matter how many times I said, I don't feel this way. I'm telling you, I don't blame my ex-wife for my alcoholism. Tabloids, we're still printing it. So clearing the air there, no blame to Jennifer Garner for his drinking. Oprah, really good friends with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. We know about this. And so she was asked by Gayle King, her BFF on CBS mornings, whether or not she thinks the couple should attend King Charles' upcoming coronation ceremony. oh can we hear that or no can you hear that no no no okay well it's oprah it's oprah oh i thought it was the queen the queen's not with us anymore it's okay what did she say um but you can listen to it on the dirty page no no i know what you get a car

00:53:05 - 00:53:06 | Speaker 4:

and you get a car.

00:53:06 - 00:53:39 | Speaker 1:

No, she said they should absolutely go and, you know, be there to support their family. But keep their distance. And Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have filed some new legal documents asking to officially switch their son's name from Wolf Jacques Webster to Air Webster. Kyle changed her little guy's name back in January a few weeks before he was set to celebrate his first birthday. If you didn't hear the first time around, Air is of Hebrew origin and it means Lion of God. For all of today's Dirty, check out that Dirty page on NojoInTheMorning.com.

00:53:41 - 00:54:00 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. To be sure, to be sure. St. Pat's Day, like Valentine's Day for people who love whiskey. Green beer, beards and bad decisions. We're live from Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford.

00:54:02 - 00:54:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh, man. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Going to be live here until just after 10 o'clock. And then Spike's going to head out to Vintage House over on the east side of the Detroit area.

00:54:16 - 00:54:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and Frazier. And it is indoor, outdoor. They have three giant tents that are heated, but then they also have the big ballroom. So it's going to be huge and safe from the rain. And if you get there before noon, there's no cover.

00:54:28 - 00:54:58 | Speaker 2:

And then tomorrow we'll be at Irish and Ionia. So everybody get ready for that because that is going to be fun. Actually, it's not only going to be fun, but it's actually going to be cold. So dress appropriately and get ready because they're going to get you ready for that. We've had colder. So we've had Irish and Ionis that were colder. But I think it's going to be good. I think everybody is ready for that. All right, Mojo on the morning show. So what happened? You had a little plumbing issue at the house.

00:54:59 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

00:55:00 - 00:55:12 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so, and she would kill me if she knew I was telling this story, but Lucy, my almost 9-year-old, went to the bathroom last night and plugged the toilet, our main toilet.

00:55:13 - 00:55:16 | Speaker 1:

It's amazing to me the littlest kids can leave the biggest gifts.

00:55:16 - 00:56:13 | Speaker 3:

Holy cow, and it's actually Smith who is that, but I don't know what was going on with Lucy, and man, oh, man. And so last night was just crazy. Wes came back after being away for two weeks, and I was trying to get myself prepared for this live broadcast, and I was trying to get the kids prepared for, you know, their little St. Patrick's Day stuff that they had at school. So it was getting late. I totally forgot to go plunge the toilet. So, like, 20 minutes ago, our babysitter, our brand-new babysitter, by the way, who I don't know that well, texted me and mentioned that our toilet was all backed up. First of all, I was so embarrassed because God only knows what the situation is in that toilet, you know, at this time. But also, how embarrassing for her. She doesn't really know us that well. She probably, what happened was she used to the bathroom and couldn't get it to go down. And now she's texting me going, okay, your toilet's plugged. And she probably also doesn't believe me that it really was Lucy. It wasn't me. It was not me.

00:56:13 - 00:56:21 | Speaker 4:

I feel bad for babysitters. You know, if you're a babysitter, this is about time probably on your way to go to your job.

00:56:21 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, God bless Nicole. That's her name because she gets to my house just before 5 a.m., which is rough.

00:56:26 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 4:

You'll have to call us up and tell us, what's the worst thing that you had to do as a babysitter? Because you basically have to do pretty much everything.

00:56:35 - 00:56:36 | Speaker 3:

It's so true.

00:56:36 - 00:56:41 | Speaker 4:

And I think that unplunging the toilet that's been sitting there for how long?

00:56:42 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 2:

Since last night.

00:56:43 - 00:56:43 | Speaker 4:

Since last night.

00:56:43 - 00:56:45 | Speaker 2:

Right before bedtime. It's been stewing.

00:56:45 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 4:

It's probably not great. It's funny how many times you'll hear stories about babysitters. And the people that hire them as babysitters will ask them to do, like, everything for them. It's almost kind of like they become, like, a personal assistant, so to speak, for the, you know, family that they're babysitting for. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, or you can text at 95500. This is your time to vent. Vent and tell us what you had to do. It's pretty crazy here at Kennedy's. The crowd's great. It's awesome. It's like all ages. And Megan's on her phone talking. Who are you talking to right now? What do you got? Huh?

00:57:27 - 00:57:28 | Unknown:

You're trying to listen to me.

00:57:28 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 4:

You're trying to listen to me. Well, come over here. I keep asking you to get closer. She doesn't want to be close to us. Can you get closer? Where's your headphones at? We don't have an extra pair of headphones for her.

00:57:39 - 00:57:46 | Speaker 3:

Who set this broadcast up? It's literally so loud in here. She's standing maybe three feet from me, and she's just shaking her head. She can't hear what I'm saying. I don't understand this.

00:57:46 - 00:58:05 | Speaker 4:

I seriously don't understand this. This is the first time that we've ever done a free... yes it is we've been on the airs for we've been on the air for as much as this kennedy's pub has been open something again and how is it that we don't have that can you hear me yes i can hear you i'm on a crazy delay it's like three seconds behind do me a favor put your goddamn phone down

00:58:05 - 00:58:09 | Speaker 3:

here he's giving you headphones and put the headphones it is the day of a saint you can't

00:58:09 - 00:58:20 | Speaker 4:

say that every day is a day of a saint and you know what i bet you that saint patrick was here Put headphones on. He's got nowhere to plug it in. Who's doing this project?

00:58:20 - 00:58:21 | Speaker 3:

Here, you can take mine.

00:58:22 - 00:58:23 | Speaker 4:

No, don't worry about it.

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 3:

It's fine. I'm right next to him.

00:58:24 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 4:

Carrie, I'm going to grab you, Carrie. Can you hear me, Carrie? Carrie.

00:58:29 - 00:58:29 | Speaker 5:

Hello.

00:58:29 - 00:58:30 | Speaker 4:

How are you doing?

00:58:31 - 00:58:32 | Speaker 5:

I'm doing fine.

00:58:32 - 00:58:33 | Speaker 4:

Carrie, are you a babysitter?

00:58:33 - 00:58:36 | Speaker 5:

We're going to the Fantasies this afternoon. Oh, nice.

00:58:36 - 00:58:37 | Speaker 4:

Wait a second.

00:58:37 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 5:

If he makes it.

00:58:39 - 00:58:41 | Speaker 4:

Oh, you're not a babysitter calling up. You're actually a person calling up.

00:58:42 - 00:58:54 | Speaker 5:

I know, I am. Our kids started vomiting for a brand-new babysitter. Three boys, they had to call us up because all three kids were vomiting. Oh, my gosh. Oh, that's bad.

00:58:54 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 1:

And then did the babysitter quit the next day, or was it?

00:58:57 - 00:58:59 | Speaker 5:

We never saw her or heard from her again.

00:58:59 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, that's horrible. I understand, but it's horrible.

00:59:05 - 00:59:06 | Speaker 5:

We'll see you later on.

00:59:06 - 00:59:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, take care of yourself. I know everybody's saying to see you later on. They're like, we're going to be here at 5 o'clock tonight. Get over here now.

00:59:12 - 00:59:17 | Speaker 4:

Do you guys, on a level of frustration of this broadcast, what level do you think that I finally hit?

00:59:17 - 00:59:18 | Speaker 1:

You're handling it very well.

00:59:19 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no, no. I just said, God damn it, on the radio. Well, I know, but.

00:59:23 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 3:

You just said it again.

00:59:25 - 00:59:35 | Speaker 4:

But I don't understand. The thing that I don't understand is we have been broadcasting these St. Patrick's Day broadcasts minus 2020 and 2021. Right.

00:59:35 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 1:

For how many years? We did 2021 and 2022. too but there's no surprise that there's more than three people on this show and all right

00:59:44 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 4:

somehow all those meetings they had it didn't all right whoever whoever uh did the planning of this thing i don't ever want you planning any other broadcast for us catherine what's going on it's mojo in the morning how are you hey how are you guys hey we're talking about the crazy

01:00:00 - 01:00:10 | Speaker 7:

thing that the parents asked the babysitter to do yeah so i was working for a relatively new

01:00:10 - 01:00:32 | Speaker 5:

family at the time and he called me up and asked me to do two things read off her husband's and send her a parking ticket she had gotten the other day oh my gosh wow do they pay you well yeah they do it was it was just you know interesting that's that's pretty wild though

01:00:32 - 01:00:46 | Speaker 7:

like that's like another level of like yeah of care yes yes listen that's the only time that you should ever be talking about that guy's privates i just want you to know that yeah

01:00:46 - 01:00:52 | Speaker 5:

thank you for the call there's no more kids coming yeah i don't know what she just said

01:00:52 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 7:

I don't either. I think she said, God bless us all, each and every one. She also said, why do we only have three microphones?

01:00:58 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 4:

And no headphones.

01:00:59 - 01:01:00 | Speaker 7:

Bree, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

01:01:02 - 01:01:02 | Speaker 4:

Mario.

01:01:03 - 01:01:06 | Speaker 7:

Good, Bree. We're talking to babysitters. Are you a babysitter?

01:01:06 - 01:01:17 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I'm a babysitter. And I went to babysit someone in my neighborhood like two years ago. And I walked in, and there was moldy suit everywhere and dirty diapers all over their house. Oh, Lord of all.

01:01:18 - 01:01:19 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez. Yes.

01:01:19 - 01:01:21 | Speaker 4:

Yes. It was not a good experience.

01:01:21 - 01:01:25 | Speaker 7:

So they were waiting for you then to come and to take care of all that?

01:01:26 - 01:01:31 | Speaker 4:

No, that's just how they live, I think. Like, I don't know. I was like, that's the last time I ever babysit for you guys.

01:01:32 - 01:01:36 | Speaker 7:

How much are babysitters getting paid? Like, what do you get paid to babysit?

01:01:37 - 01:01:38 | Speaker 4:

Like, $15 to $20.

01:01:39 - 01:01:41 | Speaker 1:

Wow, $15 to $20 an hour.

01:01:42 - 01:01:48 | Speaker 7:

I mean, in nowadays standards, you could go to Kroger and make more than that and not have to clean up lonely diapers.

01:01:49 - 01:01:52 | Speaker 4:

Exactly. But it's, like, fun, depending on who it is.

01:01:52 - 01:01:53 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, most of the time.

01:01:53 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 7:

Thank you for the call. Clara, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing? I'm doing good.

01:01:58 - 01:01:58 | Speaker 2:

How are you guys?

01:01:59 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 7:

Good. Clara, what did you have to do as a babysitter?

01:02:02 - 01:02:11 | Speaker 2:

I had to sit with the kids, actually, while the mom confronted the dad about his other... Oh, wow. Oh, how uncomfortable and awkward.

01:02:12 - 01:02:14 | Speaker 1:

Could you hear the whole conversation while you were there?

01:02:15 - 01:02:24 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my goodness. While she was getting ready to go, I swear she was going to have an aneurysm. I felt so bad, but I just was like, okay, I'm going to sit here and do what I've got to do.

01:02:24 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my goodness. Oh, that's horrible. And the whole time you're trying to make sure the kids have no idea what's going on, right?

01:02:31 - 01:02:40 | Speaker 2:

Exactly, and trying to focus on having fun with them and making sure they're calm and don't think anything weird. But then, man, oh, man, I felt so bad watching her go out that door.

01:02:42 - 01:02:48 | Speaker 7:

Thank you for the call. Trisha, this is a gross one because I'm itching just thinking about it. What did you have to do as a babysitter?

01:02:49 - 01:03:15 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so I was a teenager, but I was a single mom. I was a single mom evening watching her kid. I found life while we were playing with hair. I found life in her hair, called the mom. She's like, well, you know, CVS is just down the street. Can you just walk, get the treatment? So we did this, and I'm like, when I got home, I had my mom just treat me because I just felt gross.

01:03:16 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 1:

Right, yeah. You can't stop itching after you help the kids. For the next three weeks, your head's itch.

01:03:21 - 01:03:22 | Speaker 7:

I'm itching right now.

01:03:23 - 01:03:31 | Speaker 3:

Now, needless to say, I did not, you know, I was like, I'm not watching tomorrow. No, just knowing, because I don't even know if I fully did it right as a kid treating a kid for life.

01:03:31 - 01:03:54 | Speaker 7:

Right, yeah. All right, so yours is a good call. Thank you so much. so the lice taking the dad we own the vasectomy the uh had to get the kids and take them the other room while mom confronted about the cheating the best of them all there's better britney are you there i am here yes britney you take the cake on this one the worst thing that a babysitter ever

01:03:54 - 01:04:18 | Speaker 6:

had to do yes i was babysitting this has been a couple of years ago and i got a phone call from the police and I had to go pick the mom up at whatever police place she was at because she had gotten a DUI. So I had to wait for her mom to come over to stay with the kids so I could go pick

01:04:18 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 7:

her up. Was she in her like orange jumpsuit at the time that you picked her up? No she was like

01:04:27 - 01:04:35 | Speaker 6:

I mean, a very fancy kind of person. So it was really interesting that that was how our night ended. Yeah.

01:04:35 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 7:

Wow, that's unbelievable. You win. You get no prize out of that whole deal. Yes, thank you. You're not working for them anymore, right?

01:04:41 - 01:04:44 | Speaker 6:

That's right. No, this has been a couple years ago.

01:04:44 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 7:

01:06:00 - 01:07:28 | Speaker 2:

hello hey how you doing buttercup i'm looking for scott per favore what's that this is scott is is uh gregory strassel from the toyota safety compliance division you recently purchased a toyota camry yeah there's a small problem with your vehicle there it's under a possible recall and we've been asked by the National Highway Traffic Safety Board to contact every new car owner and determine whether or not the new car has been experiencing this problem. You have about five minutes? I'm getting ready for work. The horn and the windshield wipers in your car for your model year have been proven to be defective, and for cars with this problem, Toyota's offering a fix at no charge to you, but it's important that we get a fix because a car without a working horn and wipers compromises the safety of its passengers. If I can just ask you to grab the keys and head down to your car in the driveway or the garage. It should take about 30 seconds. All right. Where's your car now? It's on the street in front of my house. Okay. Let me know when you get there. All right. I'm in the car now. Here's the deal. The car horn is one octave too high, and that tone is disabling the wipers in some cars. So we're going to test your car really fast, see if it's part of the recall safety compliance, okay? You're saying the horn's out of tune? Well, no, it's just the way they made the horn is disabling the wipers. So if you turn on your wipers right now, see if they probably don't work, right?

01:07:29 - 01:07:30 | Speaker 1:

I'm a bitch. They're not working.

01:07:31 - 01:07:41 | Speaker 2:

Okay, looks like your car needs to be brought in. But let's just confirm and document it here with the audio test. All right, we're about to begin the test. It takes about 30 seconds, and I'll explain what to do as we go along, okay?

01:07:42 - 01:07:43 | Unknown:

All right.

01:07:43 - 01:07:51 | Speaker 2:

Horn test R482 Alpha Omega dash Horn 7, Southwest District Toyota Horn test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession.

01:07:53 - 01:07:53 | Speaker 1:

Right now?

01:07:54 - 01:08:23 | Speaker 2:

Oh, sir. I forgot to mention you can't talk during a test because we're recording it here into the computer. And your voice will throw off the computer. We just need to hear only the horn on your end. So I have to start again then. Horn test R-42 Alpha Omega Dash Horn 7 Octopi Delta Southwest District Toyota Horn Test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. One, two, three. Sir, you spoke again, sir.

01:08:24 - 01:08:24 | Unknown:

Sorry.

01:08:24 - 01:09:37 | Speaker 2:

All right, we'll just start again. Horn test R482 Alpha Omega Dash Octopie Zippy Pinky Southwest District Toyota Horn Test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Wait a minute, what was that? I heard another horn. Was somebody honking at you? Well, yeah, I'm on the street. People think I'm honking at them. Ah, great, okay. We just need to start again because that's going to mess up the test. I can't keep honking at people all day. Well, this will only take 30 seconds if we can just get through it really fast. Horn test R482, Alpha Omega, Zippy, Pinky, Delta, Southwest District. Toyota horn test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Hold in the horn for five seconds. Turn on the headlights. Now honk your horn. Oh, sir. We might be able to fix this over the phone, and you won't have to come in. Okay, turn the headlights off. Okay, we need six rapid sounds of the horn. Okay, turn the headlights on. Three long bursts of the horn. Okay, now try the wipers. Are they working?

01:09:39 - 01:09:40 | Unknown:

Can I talk?

01:09:41 - 01:09:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, we're not doing the audio anymore.

01:09:43 - 01:09:44 | Speaker 1:

No, wipers are dead.

01:09:45 - 01:11:25 | Speaker 2:

All right, one more quick one. This should work then. Turn the headlights off and the wipers off. Okay. Okay, now honk five times as if you're counting five seconds. Turn the headlights off. Turn the wipers on, now two big honks. Now turn off the wipers, turn on the wipers, and give me one long honk of the horn again for like five seconds. And then, doo doo doo doo doo. What? You know what to do, doo doo doo doo doo. You knew it! Okay. This is the last thing. I want you to hold down the horn and in a clear speaking voice say, get out of my lane, buddy. Are you serious? This is the last thing. What is that supposed to do? Trust me. It sounds silly, but if you do it, hold down the horn and in a clear speaking voice say, get out of my lane, buddy. Get out of my lane, buddy! A little bit more passion. This is f***ing stupid. I know. nothing better to do all day than to call customers who bought our cars and harass them? Get out of my lane, buddy! Okay, perfect. Now turn on the wipers, and they should be working. No, they're not. Oh, wait, I'm sorry. That's because I don't work for Toyota. This is Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show. You've just been phone scammed. Oh, dude, I'm not going to work. Your roommate Paul just made a complete ass out of you. You asshole.

01:12:28 - 01:12:29 | Speaker 1:

Water in quotation marks.

01:12:29 - 01:12:51 | Speaker 3:

I've had, you know what I am? I am drunk with joy. Take us to Snoop Dogg's high school reunion tour happening at Pine Knob on July the 23rd. My buddy Doug, who lives right behind Pine Knob, he's going to be so happy because the smell and the smoke will waft over towards his house. I got a gift. Who brought you that? A listener.

01:12:51 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 2:

I love my job. And she wants to play with Megan on Throwback Throwdown, but I don't know if they already lined up some contestants.

01:12:58 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 3:

On the phone lines, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Maybe we can have one person if you want to here. Why don't we do this? Lydia, if this lady brought her a J, she can play with Megan here because Megan ain't going to win this thing anyway. Don't worry about it. They're both probably all, what do you say, zooted? Zooted. All right, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Who do you think is going to win? Will it be Spike, Shannon, or Mike? Your chance to play. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, it's St. Patrick's Day Live at Kennedy's. The throwback throwdown for Snoop tickets. First pick in the draft goes to Katrina. Katrina, who do you choose? You got Mike. Yes. Is that what she said? Yeah, Katrina. Hi. Heather, second pick in the draft. Who do you choose? Was that Heather? That doesn't sound like Heather. I'd like to choose. Who is this? Who is that? Is that Samantha? Oh, my God. Bye. Oh, my God. It's a day. So fun. It is a day. Let's go to Hunter. Let's go to Hunter. No, who is that? Who is that? Hunter. Hunter. I have no idea.

01:14:33 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 2:

All I'm asking is, if you're planning our intervention, wait until Sunday. All right.

01:14:38 - 01:14:41 | Speaker 3:

Is that person playing right there? What's your name?

01:14:43 - 01:14:47 | Speaker 2:

Victoria. Victoria. Okay, so she's on the phone with us right now across the bar.

01:14:47 - 01:14:55 | Speaker 3:

Wait, why is Victoria on the phone? Why is Victoria not just talking on Megan's microphone? Come on, hang up your phone, Victoria. Come over here.

01:14:55 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 2:

She was lucky enough to get through on the phone lines, but she's also standing in front of the speaker.

01:15:00 - 01:16:12 | Speaker 1:

an increasingly amazing sonic intervention. This gentleman is playing as well, and he's on the phone. How did that happen? There's people here. Go over to Megan. Who are you playing? Hello, Mike. Oh, you're Mike. We have another guy here that's playing, too. Are you kidding me? The people were in the bar playing the throwback. All right, so here's what. That's great. Because this is such a mess and such a train wreck right now. Are you playing? No, she's playing. She's playing. That's her bodyguard. Okay. All right. Hang up. Hang up your phone. She just fell off the stage. All right. Katie, take the phones off the air. All right. Stop for a second. This is a train wreck of train wrecks right now. This is not a good this is not good radio. All right. The idea of having them play on the phone lines is because they're not with us in the bar. Somehow if they made it through on that, we should tell them to come up to the table here. So here's what we got. Mike is with Katrina. Everybody else, you guys are free and clear. So why don't you just grab a couple more people. What is your name? Victoria. Victoria, okay, write this down. Victoria's with Megan.

01:16:12 - 01:16:13 | Unknown:

Hi, Victoria.

01:16:14 - 01:18:55 | Speaker 1:

I just found a contestant. Spike, who do you got? What's your name? Carly. Carly. Carly, where's your friend? I want to play for her. My friend's right up here. And your friend, come on up here. This is Delaney. What is your name? Delaney. Delaney, I'm playing for you, okay? Delaney, you made it in. Nice. We talked to you earlier. Yes, yes, yes. All right, so here's what we got. What do we have? I know what we got. This is the throwback throwdown. Somebody wake me up and tell me that I dreamt this entire hour, 45 minutes. Here we go. Where is that noise coming from? Somebody still in the phone? Somebody hang your phone up. And Katie, throw that phone out the window. She fell off the stage. She literally just threw her phone. And Katie, hang up on the phone lines. You are dedicated. All right, here we go, guys. The first song in the Mojo in the Morning, Throwback, Throwdown, for this St. Patrick's Day that I hope that I'll eventually forget. The song is... Mike! Spike! Mike! Tupac, Dr. Dre, California Love. Correct answer. Oh, my God. All right, Mike's on the board. The next song in the Mojo in the Morning, throwback, throwdown, title, and artist, please, is... Oh, I can't hear anything. Oh, jeez, what is this? Megan. Megan. Rihanna, where have you been? Oh, it's... I just need the chorus. I just need the chorus. Oh, that's not me. No, not Rihanna. That's okay. I'm done. Come on, you know it. Stated Chorus

Don't worry. I can't read lips. Oh, here it goes. Oh, here it goes. Somebody film this. Somebody film it. I got it. You know what? Why do I feel like Paul Wall is on there?

01:26:56 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 2:

It feels like a Paul Wall thing.

01:26:57 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 4:

It feels like a Paul Wall. It's not a Paul Wall. Are you lying to me so I don't get the point?

01:27:02 - 01:27:04 | Speaker 2:

No, I probably do not.

01:27:04 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 1:

Mojo's had a few whiskeys.

01:27:07 - 01:27:19 | Speaker 3:

If I lean back, I'll fall off the stage. All right, Megan. Megan, do you have any? I said Megan. I said Megan. Megan, I'm sorry. Megan, I can't hear. It's blaring in my headphones right now. Go ahead, Megan.

01:27:20 - 01:27:30 | Speaker 4:

It's lean back. I know Fat Joe's on that. It feels, don't, we've had, oh my God. We had terror and the only thing I can think of is Tower of Terror.

01:27:30 - 01:27:39 | Speaker 3:

Well, here's the problem. It's Lean Back by the Terror Squad. Not all the people you just threw out there. They just call themselves the Terror Squad.

01:27:40 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 4:

Paul Wall was on that. He should have been.

01:27:46 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 2:

Feels like he tried at one point and then they're just like, no.

01:27:49 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to say one of those Irish sayings that make no sense, but when they're drunk, they're always like, well, may the devil eat you and the cat eat the devil. And you're like, what? What are you doing?

01:27:58 - 01:28:00 | Speaker 4:

That's how my brain works during this game.

01:28:01 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 1:

What are you doing up there? You're like my drunk grandpa.

01:28:04 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 3:

All right, guys. We're still playing here right now. And Spike and Mike can still win it. Shannon, you want to tie this thing up?

01:28:11 - 01:28:12 | Speaker 4:

I sure do.

01:28:12 - 01:28:17 | Speaker 3:

I know you know the song. Song is...

01:28:17 - 01:28:22 | Speaker 2:

Mike Mike for the win John Legend all of me correct

01:28:22 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 3:

Shannon John Legend all of you no wait wait wait wait wait wait what did you say do you say all of me he said all of me you said all of me he was right he was right he was I'm really shocked. I didn't pull this off. What a depressing song to play in a Friday in a barn.

01:28:55 - 01:28:56 | Speaker 1:

Everybody, come on.

01:29:01 - 01:29:08 | Speaker 2:

You can't hear the words, can you? You can't hear the song at all. Yeah. Everybody's looking at me like, what the hell are you doing?

01:29:12 - 01:29:14 | Speaker 3:

This is Mike's wedding song.

01:29:15 - 01:29:16 | Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, Spike.

01:29:16 - 01:29:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh yeah. You probably should have gone, oh yeah. No, I didn't go, oh yeah. Oh yeah, I forgot about that. You win. I win. What is your name again? You win. Yeah, what is your name? Katrina. Katrina. Yes. Katrina's the winner. You win.

01:29:30 - 01:29:31 | Unknown:

Yeah, Mike.

01:29:31 - 01:29:33 | Speaker 2:

Point again is top of the morning scene.

01:29:33 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 3:

Today, everybody's Irish. Happy St. Patrick's Day, you bearded freak. This is Mojo in the Morning, live from Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford. It's been a fun morning here. We've been broadcasting live, St. Patrick's Day. How beautiful are our listeners, huh? Oh, yeah. Unbelievable. Even the fat dude that pulled up his shirt and said, kiss my belly, I think it was. You met him, right? Yes.

01:30:00 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Kiss My Blarney Stone. Kiss My Blarney Stone. It was right on his... His name's Mike. Can I tell you something? And I've got a belly, but my belly's like flabby. At what age does your belly get hard? You know how some people have hard bellies? Yeah, like it's like a big snow globe. It's amazing. And I look at it and I go, it's wonderful because my belly looks like jiggly, wiggly, like jello.

01:30:24 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 4:

But here's the thing. You have options. You can either let it go over the pants or tuck it into the pants. When it's hard, it can only go over the pants.

01:30:32 - 01:30:48 | Speaker 2:

And Spanx don't work for a guy like that. That's right. There are some people, though, that have these hard bellies. And I've always wondered about that. And on St. Patrick's Day is when I feel like we learn who these people are the most. You know what I mean? Yeah. But how do you get to that level?

01:30:48 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 1:

I think it's abuse of a certain organ. Typically the liver.

01:30:54 - 01:31:01 | Speaker 2:

Is that what it is? Oh, it is. I did not know that. Here I am wishing for it. I'm realizing that's probably not a good thing to wish for.

01:31:01 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 4:

Keep drinking five old fashions a day. It'll be on your way. I'm telling you. That's my favorite version of you.

01:31:06 - 01:31:27 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. It is. She witnessed it last week. It's my favorite version. Wait, but what did you witness from Chelsea, though? Oh, nothing. She's perfect. No, did you see the look that she gave me, though? Oh, she was mad at you. So I found out last night that I embarrassed my kids. And I don't know if this has ever happened. Has Tim Murphy ever embarrassed you or Scott Mick ever embarrassed you?

01:31:27 - 01:31:32 | Speaker 1:

Never, because he's perfect, and I love him, and he's listening right now, but also, yes, all of the time.

01:31:33 - 01:31:36 | Speaker 2:

Spike, has your drunkness ever embarrassed Nicole or Natalie?

01:31:36 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, all the time. It's your job as a father to embarrass your children on a regular basis.

01:31:41 - 01:31:49 | Speaker 2:

Of course I have. So I guess I embarrassed Jacob and Luke, who both were like dad. Who is this lady? Who are you?

01:31:49 - 01:32:17 | Speaker 1:

my dad is gonna be 89 does he what kind of what kind of belly does he have right here does he have a hard belly or a soft belly he is his last name is Murphy oh my god can you bring him up here or would it be too hard for him to come up maybe not maybe not your phone scans on the way up did

01:32:17 - 01:32:25 | Speaker 2:

Do you love it? Thank you. Question for you. Oh, is mom a ginger? Dad and mom. Oh, hi.

01:32:25 - 01:32:28 | Speaker 1:

How are you doing? We've got all the sisters, cousins.

01:32:28 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 2:

Do you think mom and dad still, like, have fun?

01:32:31 - 01:32:34 | Speaker 1:

I know they do. Do they really? What's my dad when he gave up for Lent?

01:32:35 - 01:32:37 | Speaker 2:

Go get him. Go get him. Go get him and bring him up here.

01:32:37 - 01:32:38 | Speaker 3:

I don't think that's a good idea.

01:32:38 - 01:32:43 | Speaker 1:

Why? Because it's very crowded with a lot of stairs. Yeah. My dad will be able to hear.

01:32:43 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's okay. We'll have you ask him that question. What did you give him for Lent? and we'll put the mic. All right, go get him. Go get him. Don't worry, we can't hear either. Hurry up, though. We got a radio show we're doing here.

01:32:53 - 01:32:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I'm falling off.

01:32:54 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 2:

By the way, hurry up. He's 85.

01:32:55 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 4:

He's moving very slow and already full.

01:32:57 - 01:33:20 | Speaker 2:

I would have stopped that, but she jumped on my back and grabbed me, and I went up. So, question for you. He's 85 years old. He's obviously still having sex with his wife, who's also probably about 85 years old. What would you rather see? All the guys here pull their shirts up right now and show their bellies off? or the visual of those two? Of his. Ooh. That was the shillelagh.

01:33:21 - 01:33:25 | Speaker 4:

No, I want to see the visual. I'm curious what things look like. I'm going to be honest.

01:33:26 - 01:33:26 | Speaker 2:

A little bit.

01:33:26 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 4:

I'm curious. No.

01:33:28 - 01:33:29 | Speaker 2:

It's kind of like when somebody shows you a marker,

01:33:29 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 3:

and they say, oh, this smells really bad.

01:33:31 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 4:

You have to smell this.

01:33:32 - 01:33:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:33:32 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 4:

It's the same. Mike, I'm with you. Yeah.

01:33:34 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 2:

Here, Mike, carry the microphone over there and see if you can get Dad's. What did Dad give up for Lent is the question, Mike. Ask him so we don't have a poor guy. This guy's 80-something years old. What did you give up for Lent?

01:33:50 - 01:33:52 | Speaker 1:

What did you give up for Lent? Tell us.

01:33:53 - 01:33:57 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I can't remember what I did yesterday.

01:33:58 - 01:34:03 | Speaker 1:

He's so cute. You have to give up for Lent. You tell us all the time. What did you give up for Lent? I forgot.

01:34:05 - 01:34:07 | Speaker 4:

Help me out. He's had a few plaques, too.

01:34:09 - 01:34:15 | Speaker 1:

I didn't know how to say it in public, but I gave up sex. You gave up sex? Wow.

01:34:15 - 01:34:28 | Speaker 3:

That means after St. Patrick's Day and Lent, you have to have it twice as much. Or as we say in Ireland, Dublin. I hate it. You've got to catch up. Literally hate it.

01:34:29 - 01:34:57 | Speaker 2:

All right. Dad's still over there talking about sex. Let's leave him over there. All right. Let me give away some Sam Hunt tickets, and then we'll do the dirty, and we've got more coming up here. We're at Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Win a pair of tickets to see Sam Hunt at Pine Knob 95th caller 844-665-6548 Mojo in the mornings Dirty on the 30 Alright Shannon, what you got?

01:34:58 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 4:

Former defensive tackle

01:35:00 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 2:

Jalen Carter pleaded no contest to those two misdemeanor charges yesterday. Again, he's the top NFL draft prospect. If you don't know who he is, he was sentenced to all sorts of stuff, 12 months probation, a fine, some community service. He also has to complete a defensive driving course stemming from those charges related to the fatal crash in which he was involved. So the Athens-Clarke County Police Department announced earlier this month that an arrest warrant was issued for Jalen in connection to the crash, crash excuse me which occurred back on january 15th just hours after the georgia bulldogs participated in this big parade to celebrate their national championship former bulldogs offensive lineman devin wilcox and recruiting staff member chandler mccroy they were both killed in what police previously said was an accident a single vehicle accident well now we know it was two vehicles racing and one of those vehicles was jalen carters when drake announced the It's All Bloor tour recently. Fans were ecstatic that they were going to have a chance to see him perform. He hasn't been on tour since 2018. It's been a minute. He's dropped multiple albums between that time, including Certified Loverboy. Honestly, never mind her loss. So fans have been wanting this. I know 21 Savage is joining him on the road. And Drake recently hinted at retirement during an interview that he did with Lil Yachty. So fans want to see him and they want to see him before he walks away from the music business for good, which I don't really see him doing, but okay, he said he was going to do it, so whatever. Well, those feelings of happiness and excitement quickly turned into feelings of shock and confusion when fans were able to look at the prices of these pre-sale tickets. Did you see them?

01:36:41 - 01:36:41 | Speaker 6:

Insane.

01:36:42 - 01:36:50 | Speaker 2:

Minimum $1,000 per ticket. Per ticket, and that's just pre-sale. So I think tickets go on sale to the general public today, if I'm not mistaken.

01:36:50 - 01:36:55 | Speaker 5:

But I think that the pre-sale tickets, the $1,000, They come with stuff, right? They don't come with...

01:36:55 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 6:

No, not... Well, they have different packages, but these are just the regular seats, too, because they're doing those up-close-pit seats that are $1,000.

01:37:03 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 3:

And remember, Ticketmaster does it based on how many people are in the room trying to buy tickets. Yeah, so it's going to be crazy today. And people are saying, who can afford this? Nobody can afford this anymore.

01:37:13 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 6:

So I didn't look at our particular date, but the cheapest seats on the tour were $246 before any fees were added on.

01:37:21 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 3:

Which is, like, $100 per ticket.

01:37:23 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, yeah. Wow. Yeah. So you've got to listen to Mojo in the morning to win them for free. That's the end.

01:37:28 - 01:37:37 | Speaker 3:

And do me a favor. Look up Architectural Digest's tour of his house. It's the ugliest rich person's house you've ever seen in your entire life. Really? It's so bad.

01:37:37 - 01:38:13 | Speaker 2:

I'll post a link to it on the 30 page. It's so bad. Okay, this is a cute story. So a dad was going through TSA pre-check in Nashville this week, okay? And while he's like, you know, taking out his liquids and putting his stuff on the little thing, he was singing, like humming, a Morgan Wallen song. The Morgan Wallen song, Chasing You, while he made his way through the line. So he's, you know, arranging his electronics, trying to get through the checkpoint. And the man next to him started singing this Morgan Wallen song along with him. Turns out that man was Morgan Wallen himself.

01:38:13 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, what are the odds?

01:38:14 - 01:38:20 | Speaker 2:

So I know, it was kind of cute. he stopped to take some photos with the guy and his daughter who was a super fan so she was thrilled

01:38:20 - 01:38:38 | Speaker 4:

by that whole situation we have to uh get more morgan wallen in our catalog because you told said that song was chasing you and the only two songs we have are tennessee numbers and uh what's the other song the his first hit song that was that was big you know k peel won all the morgan wallen

01:38:38 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 2:

what was morgan wallen's first hit song probably wasted on you or whiskey glasses whiskey glasses That's what I'm thinking of.

01:38:45 - 01:38:47 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Order some more songs.

01:38:47 - 01:39:20 | Speaker 2:

A mom has gone viral on TikTok after she let people know why she got rid of toilet paper in her household. This mom prefers washcloths because she thinks regular toilet paper is gross. It gets crumbly. It gets stuck in places. So they have a bidet. Okay. And I say washcloths, but I really should say washcloth. She has a family cloth. So everybody in the family shares one washcloth. And when it gets to a point where it's really dirty, they throw it in a washing machine with their clothes and start all over again.

01:39:20 - 01:39:25 | Speaker 3:

I think we need to have a conversation about what constitutes as a dirty story because it means celebrity.

01:39:25 - 01:39:26 | Speaker 2:

This is literally dirty.

01:39:27 - 01:39:27 | Unknown:

I know.

01:39:28 - 01:39:32 | Speaker 2:

They even use a family cloth to blow their noses instead of Kleenex.

01:39:32 - 01:39:33 | Speaker 3:

Oh.

01:39:34 - 01:39:34 | Speaker 2:

Sustainability.

01:39:35 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 3:

So gross.

01:39:35 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Kill the planet. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on LodgerInTheMorning.com.

01:40:25 - 01:40:44 | Speaker 4:

Have a great time. I didn't understand what you just said Because I can't hear anything I heard you get excited And I heard you say did I win But I can't hear any of the other stuff This is the time of all times To pretty much call us all stupid If you want to

01:40:44 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 2:

Happy St. Pat's Day Live from Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford This is McMojo in the Morning Green Beer The closest thing Mojo will get to a vegetable today. Happy St. Patrick's Day from Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Megan, Mike, and the whole crew. Live from Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford.

01:41:08 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. Yes. I think, by the way, I've realized that over the years, there are certain live broadcasts that we do that are, like, ultra fun. And then there are St. Patrick's Day broadcasts.

01:41:25 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 3:

They're fun, just not professional.

01:41:29 - 01:41:47 | Speaker 4:

You would never know that we've been on the air for the last few hours by the way that we've either, A, been treated by the broadcast or treated by the people that are here. Oh, is that Mojo in the morning they're hanging out there? Unbelievable.

01:41:47 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 3:

Did you guys pay cover? No, no, no, I'm working here.

01:41:50 - 01:41:56 | Speaker 4:

I just paid cover, by the way, for everybody. Mojo actually paid cover. Everybody that's here right now, we just paid the cover charge for you.

01:41:56 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 3:

And the people can't even hear you here to realize that you literally paid cover for the entire bar this morning.

01:42:01 - 01:42:09 | Speaker 4:

You know what this is like? This is like buying a drink, a round of drinks for girls, and the good-looking guy at the end of the bar gets the credit for it.

01:42:09 - 01:42:18 | Speaker 3:

But actually, you were doing it. You said in the office, I don't want to take from the small business. Mojo said, I want to make sure the bar still makes their money because we're going to fill the place.

01:42:18 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 4:

I didn't realize he was putting a tent out in the back.

01:42:21 - 01:42:22 | Speaker 3:

I think there are two.

01:42:22 - 01:42:25 | Speaker 4:

I had no idea. Yeah, I thought it was just the inside of this place.

01:42:25 - 01:42:27 | Speaker 3:

He's like, oh, you're paying, are you? Okay, it's the whole weekend.

01:42:28 - 01:43:02 | Speaker 4:

I think I just paid their entire electric bill for the last month. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show hanging out here at the broadcast. And when you do a topic, Spike, you've got to be careful because if you do a topic that deals with your girlfriend during the week, Monday through Thursday, she can't respond right away. She can just sit there and listen and then yell at the iHeartRadio app saying he's full of crap, he's exaggerating. But now you have her next to you while you're about to do a topic.

01:43:02 - 01:43:20 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, this is a problem because on the way in the bar, this lovely girl named Haley said, Where's Meg? We want to meet Meg. And I said, She's coming to the bar today. She said, We don't get enough of Meg on the air. I said, That's by design because I don't want her to tell her side of the story. I want to be able to lie on the air and get away with it.

01:43:20 - 01:43:40 | Speaker 4:

And actually, it's funny because St. Patrick's Day is a day because you guys, St. Patrick's Day has history with you guys, right? And being able to like know, because you, did you come out to a broadcast or something like that way back when? Oh, many years ago. You came out to a broadcast way back when, when you were married, you were married and all that stuff and you were hanging out with a friend.

01:43:40 - 01:44:05 | Speaker 3:

We didn't know each other and we didn't meet. It was 12 years ago and we were, once we started dating, we were talking stories and she said, you know, I just realized. i came to one of your broadcasts once she came to rochester 12 years ago that is crazy so we look through her girlfriend's pictures and there's like she's in the background of one of our photos but like we didn't know each other we didn't meet it was just she happened to be there did

01:44:05 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 4:

were you like the rest of these people meg that are in here right now that are looking at us going who are those people i listen to serious satellite radio or podcasting um i'm just wondering about that so what's the story what's the topic that you're bringing up well meg's saying that you

01:44:20 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 3:

shouldn't send your guy on an errand and we had a little incident last night where we were all hanging out with friends we ordered takeout and it ended up with all the girlfriends mad at their boyfriend so i'll turn it over to meg and she can explain why she was mad at us yeah so i for the

01:44:37 - 01:44:42 | Speaker 1:

record had faith in you i had a lot of faith he's gonna yell at you if you don't get closer to that

01:44:42 - 01:44:45 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, you've got to like eat it, basically. You've got to get it right. Hey, hey now.

01:44:45 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my friend Tracy wanted the girls to go. She said it makes more sense, and I thought that's going to be trouble. We're never going to make it back. Send the boys. They're responsible. They'll pick up the food. They'll be right back. These kids are hungry. 45 minutes.

01:45:00 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 4:

minutes later the pickup was five minutes up the road 45 minutes later

01:45:04 - 01:45:11 | Speaker 2:

they're still 45 minutes wait was this at that restaurant that you were trying to pick up an order at before I won't say the name because I know you got in

01:45:11 - 01:45:16 | Speaker 1:

trouble for that but I know no this was Amici's in Berkeley which we love they

01:45:16 - 01:45:31 | Speaker 4:

have a bar so when we got there and Alan the bartenders like well you're gonna have a drink so we said well Adam jokingly we said say hi to Adam the bartender, and they said hi to Adam for an hour.

01:45:32 - 01:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God. It wasn't an hour. It was only two beers. And wait, you were saying the kids were there. So this was not an

01:45:37 - 01:45:47 | Speaker 4:

adult party. No, no. Tracy and I had the kids. So we were holding down the fort. Oh my God. And those guys were having beers.

01:45:47 - 01:46:02 | Speaker 2:

Alright, so this is something I think that most wives can relate to because, or girlfriends, they send their guy to go do something And the guy comes back, and he spends a little bit too much time doing something he shouldn't have been doing.

01:46:02 - 01:46:17 | Speaker 1:

And it's happened before. I go to pick up Chinese, and it's in the same strip mall as Home Depot. I'm going to run in for something real quick, and then I start browsing. You know, you lose track of time. But in this situation, I put my phone in my pocket. I've been trying to be more present at the bar.

01:46:17 - 01:46:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

01:46:18 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to be more present. At the bar. So when I finally went to, you know, get our food, and I looked at my phone and realized, oh, my gosh, Meg texted me like 18 times.

01:46:26 - 01:46:31 | Speaker 2:

The kids are starving. Where are you? Were the kids like antsy about that?

01:46:31 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 4:

The kids are, we're hungry. Where's the food? That's the worst.

01:46:34 - 01:47:08 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Can you relate to this? Are you somebody that will never send your guy to go do a pickup of your dinner because he never comes back on time? I think the problem was not you, Spike. The problem was who chose the place that they were ordering from? Because it's all about the place. If you chose a place without a bar, then you would not have had that problem. Olga's. If you've got Olga's, what are you going to do? You're not going to sit there and just get an orange whip, right?

01:47:08 - 01:47:20 | Speaker 4:

Well, I found out. So my friend Tracy picked the place, and she had a diabolical plan that the girls would go get the food. And I botched it. Oh, man. What a terrible friend you are. I mess up.

01:47:20 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 1:

So that's really where this anger is coming from. It was really not that we were so long.

01:47:24 - 01:47:58 | Speaker 2:

it was that she wanted to be there with a glass of wine so the so the the idea of you guys just staying home having drinks meant these guys were going to go and not not drinking and look what happened it bit you right in the ass what can i ask you a question a little bit because i want to know something about your man um have have you guys you guys have been together for less than what a couple years or something have you guys had any knockdown drag out fights at all has it has it gotten to a point where you have not talked to him for even a five-minute period of time like

01:47:58 - 01:48:16 | Speaker 4:

have you guys got no i mean of course there's little arguments and tips and stuff like that but no we're not what are they about what do you argue about uh my cleaning supplies oh we've heard about this yeah he's talked about that supplies um timing you know if i say dinner's ready you got

01:48:16 - 01:48:22 | Speaker 2:

to be ready man and his timing is a little slow timing's a little off yeah it's not off she's got

01:48:22 - 01:48:29 | Speaker 1:

a weird clock she'll say dinner's in 20 minutes and then in three minutes she goes dinner's ready and i just start i'm like wait you said 20 minutes it's only been three minutes what's his worst

01:48:29 - 01:48:34 | Speaker 2:

habit though that drives you crazy is something that just drives you absolutely listen alphabetically

01:48:34 - 01:48:45 | Speaker 4:

i've dreamed of the day that i could talk about this on the radio and i forgot what's your worst habit probably it's it's your internal clock is off that is it he's got he's on spike time is that

01:48:45 - 01:48:55 | Speaker 2:

what you're saying i've lived that i've lived that for 20 some years of my life i just want you to know that I feel for you ask him what 550 means let's just ask him 550 and

01:48:55 - 01:48:58 | Speaker 1:

you'll be able to figure that one out that's when I leave the house I finally

01:48:58 - 01:49:24 | Speaker 2:

when I when I said we have to be here at 530 he finally showed up Jessica what's going on it's mojo in the morning good morning how you doing you get a chance to listen to the inner workings of the relationship of spike and his girlfriend, Meg, and what he did last night, you actually experienced before? Yes, I have. Who was it?

01:49:25 - 01:49:46 | Speaker 3:

So, I had my dad and his wife over for my birthday one year, and they were supposed to go pick up pizza for me and the family with my kids. And they left with my boyfriend, and it was like hours later. They never returned, and we were trying to get a hold of them, and the whole time they ended up being at a bar, and they didn't show up until like three, four hours later. Oh, my

01:49:46 - 01:49:58 | Speaker 2:

But you know what he's smart can I tell you that your boyfriend is wise Because if spike went to go pick up wasn't it again a me cheese or is that what is if he went to pick up a me cheese with Meg's dad

01:50:00 - 01:50:10 | Speaker 3:

Meg can't get angry at Spike like you can't get angry at your guy, Jessica. Because guess what? It's Dad that was there, too. You could throw Dad under the bus, couldn't you?

01:50:10 - 01:50:26 | Speaker 2:

Well, and by design, I invited Meg's dad. He's joining us at my next broadcast at Vincent's House, where I'm going from noon to 4 after this. And you can join us, too, because Meg's dad will keep us out of trouble. We can drink as much as we want and not get yelled at.

01:50:26 - 01:50:44 | Speaker 3:

Actually, there's truth to that, because Chelsea's dad, Joe, and I have gotten ourselves into trouble before and for some reason, if I did that same thing with like, I don't know, my buddies you know, like Will or Steve or whatever, I would get my ass chewed out. But because Chelsea's dad is

01:50:44 - 01:50:47 | Speaker 2:

there. It's quality time.

01:50:47 - 01:50:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Meg, does your dad like this guy?

01:50:49 - 01:50:52 | Speaker 1:

He loves him. Does he? Yep. Yep. Does he like

01:50:52 - 01:50:59 | Speaker 3:

this shirt that he's wearing? By the way, will you do me a favor? This shirt should never come out ever again. This is a One and done.

01:50:59 - 01:51:02 | Speaker 1:

Honestly, will you seriously? I love that shirt. I like it, too.

01:51:03 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 2:

Meg wanted to get, I ordered this, thank God I ordered it last week, and it came in late because she wanted to get matching shirts. Oh, my God.

01:51:11 - 01:51:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. Look at her face.

01:51:12 - 01:51:17 | Speaker 3:

You guys, by the way, you guys gross me out. Do you know how gross it is that couples dress like each other? Come on.

01:51:18 - 01:51:21 | Speaker 1:

He won't do it. One day, I'll make it happen. Oh, jeez. He won't do it.

01:51:21 - 01:51:26 | Speaker 3:

What clothing does he wear that you can't stand, though? There's got to be something that you don't like.

01:51:26 - 01:51:27 | Speaker 1:

No, I steal all of his clothes.

01:51:28 - 01:51:36 | Speaker 3:

Do you really? you're as bad a dresser as this guy is oh my lordy lordy lordy

01:51:36 - 01:51:41 | Speaker 2:

God bless you, my friend. That's why I learned to drink. You are the reason why we're able to drink on this day. All right, ready? I just met a colonel over there.

01:55:19 - 01:55:29 | Speaker 3:

01:56:19 - 01:56:32 | Speaker 1:

01:56:33 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 3:

Blow, blow, blow, blow. There he goes. He's blowing. He's blowing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:56:37 - 01:56:42 | Speaker 1:

01:56:42 - 01:56:50 | Speaker 3:

All right, stop. Okay. All right. No way. So .08 is the legal limit in the state of Michigan. What are we at? What is he?

01:56:50 - 01:57:13 | Speaker 1:

02:02:08 - 02:02:09 | Speaker 1:

I haven't had a drink yet.

02:02:09 - 02:02:17 | Speaker 4:

It's wild. I'm going to say hi to Tanya. Tanya Lalonde is here from Summit Place Kia.

02:02:17 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 1:

Hi, Tanya.

02:02:18 - 02:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Summit Place Kia. And wait, you have the other dealerships, too, right? Don't you have a Chrysler Dodge Jeep? lalon chrysler dodge jeep ram lalon chrysler look at you how do you spend your time at all you have what two kia dealerships right or two kia dealerships and a chrysler dodge jeep ram dealership there's one of you there's one person how do you do that i gotta spread myself thin

02:02:43 - 02:02:46 | Speaker 6:

i love it she's got a great staff though good support i do have a great support staff

02:02:46 - 02:02:49 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, Spike can attest to that.

02:02:49 - 02:02:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, well, you know what? Not just to run the dealerships, but also to keep track of us. They make sure we're doing our job.

02:02:59 - 02:03:03 | Speaker 4:

Are you enjoying St. Patrick's Day, or are you just out here? Are you kidding me?

02:03:03 - 02:03:10 | Speaker 2:

Mojo, thank you, Mojo, Spike, Shannon, Mike, wherever Megan is, Kim, Colleen.

02:03:11 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 4:

Megan's getting around.

02:03:12 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Meg's getting around for everybody. Getting all around.

02:03:14 - 02:03:15 | Speaker 1:

She's not getting around.

02:03:15 - 02:03:17 | Speaker 3:

I mean, this place is packed to the...

02:03:17 - 02:03:18 | Speaker 4:

Isn't it crazy?

02:03:18 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 3:

It's just packed with all kinds of awesome people with all kinds of awesome costumes on.

02:03:22 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 4:

Oh, we love it. We love St. Patrick's Day.

02:03:24 - 02:03:28 | Speaker 3:

Listen, you guys are the only people that can get me out of bed before the sun comes out.

02:03:29 - 02:03:46 | Speaker 4:

Actually, one of the things I do love about you is that you do listen to the show. Like, there are some advertisers that I know, you know, don't necessarily listen to the show. Yeah. And thank God they don't because they would never advertise with us if they did. But you listen because you're a fan, and you will text while we're in the midst of things.

02:03:47 - 02:03:52 | Speaker 3:

I try to control myself, but I have a really hard time. No, I love it. I love it. We love that.

02:03:52 - 02:04:00 | Speaker 4:

My favorite, though, is that you right away, and you know right away when we name drop you. So that's good. You guys are awesome.

02:04:00 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 6:

She's one of the only people that's ever scammed me, remember, when I was waiting for my car delivery. That's true. She started sending me pictures of cars all smashed up telling me it didn't make it. I love that.

02:04:11 - 02:04:26 | Speaker 3:

Well, I was hoping that Reese was going to be here because I was going to give it to him for dropping the The Wi-Fi dropped off as soon as you came out because I didn't I know you like to give your scams away on the phone But I like to surprise people. Yeah I wanted you to be surprised. I was surprised

02:04:26 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 6:

But the only non-surprise is that the Wi-Fi in our building never works. That's not a surprise

02:04:31 - 02:04:36 | Speaker 3:

I gotta be honest with you. I think it's right when he came out the door They're like they saw the car and then it was just dropped

02:04:36 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 4:

I'm convinced that we we are the problem because no matter where we go the Wi-Fi doesn't work It's never a situation where it's at the station, it's at the broadcast, it's everything. Maybe we have metal plates in our head or something. Maybe there's something with that.

02:04:48 - 02:04:54 | Speaker 6:

Tonya, do you know Elon Musk? Maybe he can get us that Starlink satellite over the radio station so we can get a signal.

02:04:55 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

I was in an Uber the other day. You know, I drive a Chevy because obviously I have my relationship with Gordon.

02:05:00 - 02:05:19 | Speaker 1:

but I like my Chevy's and I was in an Uber in Chicago in a Kia and I did not know and I think I came in and I told you first off he's never let me come into his car so I just want you to know beautiful he's very Mojo moves the seats between him and my son Joe I can't get in anybody's cars without doing anything

02:05:19 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 4:

wrong so he leaves all the fries under the seat it's a mess but I'm in an Uber

02:05:24 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 1:

and it was a Kia what is it a Sorento or something is that what it is and the guy i i'm watching he's not watching the road he's watching the video on his on his dashboard and i thought it was the coolest option i've ever seen on a car that you have the option of he could see sides of him when he turns his blinkers on he could do all this stuff is that on all the cars or is that like a special feature or something only on the ones that like spike

02:05:48 - 02:05:53 | Speaker 3:

drives only the expensive ones that the rich guys get to go there are a lot of great features on the

02:05:53 - 02:06:11 | Speaker 1:

First off, that's like the greatest safety feature I've ever seen because I'm looking at this going, if a guy, you know, we were in Chicago, there's a bicyclist, like, you know, guy, one of those messenger bike guys, right, and you can see the guy coming up on his side where you wouldn't have seen that. I wouldn't have been able to see that, you know, if you didn't have that feature.

02:06:11 - 02:06:19 | Speaker 3:

No, those are great features, and they actually, the new rearview mirrors have a video, so you can either be video behind you or you can just look at regular. Yeah, that's awesome.

02:06:20 - 02:06:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, thank you for coming by. Thanks for saying so. Thanks for inviting me. Are we paying for your drinks? Because if not, Colleen's got the Bob Pittman iHeart card. Oh, no, they insisted.

02:06:28 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 3:

I tried to give the waitress a credit card, and I think about 50 people jumped on me.

02:06:33 - 02:06:36 | Speaker 1:

Listen, you are, this is carte blanche to you.

02:06:36 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 3:

This is amazing. Kennedy's here in Waterford's an old stomping ground for us.

02:06:40 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 1:

But we're here to ask you a favor. Will you pull all your advertising off Odyssey and Cumulus? We don't want them. We're this close to getting all your advertising, and we're not letting you go. We're going to make you drink more beverages, and then we're going to get it from you.

02:06:55 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 4:

Well, and I just found out she's flying in John this morning from the ad agency. He said, I want John drinking with Mojo in the morning. He needs to. So we're going to get him really drunk.

02:07:05 - 02:07:08 | Speaker 3:

He said it's 9 o'clock early enough. I said, listen, I had to get out of bed when it was dark.

02:07:10 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 4:

We love you, Tanya. I love you guys. She's such a good lady. Thank you again so much for having me.

02:07:13 - 02:07:15 | Speaker 1:

If you need a Kia, you can call 1-800-NEW-KIA-S.

02:07:15 - 02:07:22 | Speaker 3:

It's me, Tanya Lalonde from Summit Place Kia. Today! Rocking St. Patrick's Day with Mojo and the crew today.

02:07:22 - 02:07:26 | Speaker 1:

I miss your husband, by the way. I miss him more. I know you do. We love him.

02:07:26 - 02:07:27 | Speaker 3:

We should put him back on the air.

02:07:27 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 1:

What a legacy. Honestly, do you have tape? Do you still have recordings? You should. I think that's great.

02:07:33 - 02:07:34 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, of course.

02:07:34 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 1:

I think so. Thank you so much. We love you. Take care.

02:07:37 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 3:

You guys are awesome. Thank you.

02:07:39 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 1:

Megan, thank you, by the way, for doing that, Megan. Megan, do I have to sign something, Megan? All right, bring it over. The next round's on me. Megan, so wait a second. Tell me about the birthday gift, Megan.

02:07:50 - 02:08:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my. Okay, so I'm better than my brother in every single way possible, and I think you guys are going to love this because I totally upstaged my brother yesterday. And it all had to do with his, are we calling her girlfriend? Yes, she is what she is. Sure, yeah. We're calling her the girlfriend at this point. She's been around long enough. We should include her in the family.

02:08:11 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh, especially if we like her, you know. We've got to keep her around.

02:08:14 - 02:09:54 | Speaker 2:

It's gross how much I love her. Well, remember like a week ago, Mojo was giving away tickets to see Adam Sandler and he's like, what day is that? And I was like, August 17th. And I was like, oh, no, I shouldn't have known that right off the top of my head. Well, I did because the day before I had bought tickets to go see Adam Sandler at LCA. And it is because my brother's girlfriend is his number one fan. Like, I don't care how much you think you're a fan of Adam Sandler. She will literally push you in front of a bus to be number one. she's number one fan right well she's never been to a concert either so my brother got her tickets to our favorite artists it's actually gonna be in Grand Rapids so I'm gonna talk to you Mike to hook that up so they're gonna go out to Grand Rapids but my brother was like what did you get her I said I got our tickets to go see Anna Sandler and his face flush I was like you got a better gift than me and he straight up was like can we trade gifts so it looks like I got her the better gift and i said hell no i want to have the credit yeah the points yes that i thought of a great gift and i did it so then yesterday was her birthday which is why i can talk about this now and they went out to like a fun suit dinner and my brother went to give her the gifts and before he left he said i don't know what order to give them to her egg i have no idea what i should be doing should i lead with my gift and then follow up with yours because it's better do I I do yours because you're not with us and then I do mine well it turns out she texted me last night and said while I'm very appreciative for your brother I did only cry at one gift and it wasn't from him so I have stage my that's

02:09:54 - 02:10:05 | Speaker 1:

actually a really good point because think about this think about the reaction on her face if She gets the Adam Sandler ticket. She goes crazy, and then she opens up. What's the what is it some band?

02:10:05 - 02:10:18 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's gonna go see modest mouse. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's absolutely not as good as Adam Sandler. So she had a rule she was never gonna go to a concert until she saw a modest mouse first She wanted it to be her first concert because it's her favorite modest mouth. I don't know modest mouse

02:10:20 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 1:

Who is modest mouse Yeah, where do they play them do they play them on like Like 89X?

02:10:28 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, Alt-Rock.

02:10:29 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:10:29 - 02:10:29 | Speaker 2:

Yes.

02:10:30 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 1:

Well, all right, I have no idea. So I have no... Adam Sandler, I know, though.

02:10:34 - 02:10:34 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:10:34 - 02:10:37 | Speaker 1:

Is she a bigger Adam Sandler fan than she is Modest Mouse?

02:10:37 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 2:

100%. And I might have known that when I got the tickets.

02:10:39 - 02:10:47 | Speaker 1:

All right. Because I'm a bitch. So here's the thing. That was a really mean thing to do.

02:10:47 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 2:

No.

02:10:48 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 1:

But I agree with you in not letting him take credit for the Adam Sandler tickets. I agree. Because if you let him take credit for the Adam Sandler tickets, what do you do next birthday?

02:10:56 - 02:11:07 | Speaker 2:

exactly exactly i'm setting the bar high teach him a lesson i was gonna say this is a lesson to him he's gotta step up his game a little bit although to be fair his gift was great his gift was great

02:11:07 - 02:11:13 | Speaker 3:

i just did better he thought he did amazing yeah and then you still trump now you know what it is

02:11:13 - 02:11:30 | Speaker 1:

your gift was sizably better his gift was sentimentally better correct because it's her first concert correct girls want size they don't want to yo if girls wanted sentiment guys like mike spike and i would have had girlfriends throughout our whole lives here's the problem

02:11:30 - 02:12:15 | Speaker 2:

i forgot that she's uh and i i love her and i know she's probably listening right now and i love you don't don't hate me for saying this she's a psychopath and she always wants to dress up for things on theme and so apparently now we all have to go as characters from adam sandler movies that is i love this girl now too wedding singer all the way wedding singer is great so we were debating between all the different movies and if we were going to do like 50 first dates or were we going to do like a big daddy situation i want to go with scuba steve i'm not lying i would love to go with scuba steve if anybody has some scuba gear you want to run out for the night i will buy it from billy madison oh my god it would be perfect or that this could be our milk and i could just carry around milk with me all day yes i would so for those that don't know this

02:12:16 - 02:12:48 | Speaker 1:

megan's brother and his girlfriend got set up by megan this was somebody that megan knew and i i say this with all affinity i thought for sure megan's brother was never going to be allowed to ever date anybody because megan didn't want him to be happy that is also correct and so the the idea that he has found this wonderful woman because of me and that you like her are you going to be okay if they get married and then why because i don't think my brother well

02:12:48 - 02:12:52 | Speaker 2:

maybe they will actually if anybody it would probably be her but what if they what if he

02:12:52 - 02:12:56 | Speaker 1:

comes to you because he lives with you right now right unfortunately what if he comes to you you

02:12:56 - 02:13:00 | Speaker 2:

say unfortunately but you love your brother oh i love him if he wasn't there i would cry what

02:13:00 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 1:

what will you do if he says uh listen third wheel you know we're out of here we're going and you got to be by will you now start hating her then oh yeah but she knows that she knows that so does she have to like if she marries your brother she has to marry you it's like we had a

02:13:15 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 2:

full discussion the other day because she owns her own home too and i said if you guys really are going to make this serious and there's going to be moving the only moving i will tolerate is her moving in with me and him moving out to her place i'd much rather spend time with her

02:13:32 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 1:

i keep i keep waiting for drama to come up in this relationship because i am by the way are you eating dunkin donuts inside this place how did you get dunkin donuts you did you door dish

02:13:41 - 02:13:45 | Speaker 3:

I picked it up at 5 o'clock this morning, and I just remembered I had it.

02:13:45 - 02:13:52 | Speaker 1:

I was thinking to myself, because I'm not one for, like, the bar food on St. Patrick's Day where it's, like, green eggs and things like that.

02:13:52 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 3:

I don't want to eat fried things, and I realize I need to build a base. I'm drinking.

02:13:57 - 02:14:12 | Speaker 1:

All right, here's the topic. Here's the topic right now. Lydia, people who order DoorDash or Grubhub to a restaurant and go to the parking lot, are there any listeners that have ever done that before? Have you ever ordered and had it delivered to a restaurant while you were there eating?

02:14:12 - 02:14:14 | Speaker 3:

I remember it was in my car. It was keeping it cold.

02:14:15 - 02:14:22 | Speaker 1:

Did you have to hide it from the lady at the front door? Because she is, like, mean. You should have seen me.

02:14:22 - 02:14:26 | Speaker 3:

I actually pointed up to the stage. You see that big guy? He doesn't eat every hour. He gets really angry.

02:14:27 - 02:14:42 | Speaker 1:

Pointed to you. I walked in. My favorite was they have high-tech security here, like 60-year-old ladies working the security. And I walk in. She goes, excuse me. You can't go here. you got to go back in the line. I said, I'm Mojo. I'm doing the broadcast. I don't care who you are.

02:14:44 - 02:14:50 | Speaker 3:

So I had to finally call in. That's funny because I said, I'm going to run out and move my car. Can I come back in here? She goes, I don't give a flip what you do.

02:14:52 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

Maybe that was a few drinks ago or something like that. I don't know. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Look at these text messages.

02:15:00 - 02:15:04 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, Megan is such a beautiful sister-in-law.

02:15:04 - 02:15:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Sister-in-law. I always wanted a sister.

02:15:08 - 02:15:30 | Speaker 5:

Another one here. My friends always upstage my boyfriend with gifts for me on my birthday, so I always have to keep it separate and open them at separate times. That would suck. Can you imagine, as a guy, how much that would suck if you have, like, her girlfriends that that buy her the nicer gifts. You can't afford the gifts.

02:15:30 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 2:

I'm almost worried that I set the bar too high, though, now.

02:15:33 - 02:15:35 | Speaker 4:

Well, then for next year, right? Yeah. And Christmas.

02:15:36 - 02:15:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I mean, I shouldn't have said her name. Are you listening? Lower that bar.

02:15:43 - 02:15:47 | Speaker 5:

It was a one-time thing. Alicia, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:15:48 - 02:15:57 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Mojo. So I was just listening to you guys, and I think it's hilarious. I drop off food orders to other restaurants all the time. My driver, Uber, and DoorDash.

02:15:57 - 02:16:00 | Speaker 5:

Are they for the people that work at the restaurants, or are they for customers?

02:16:02 - 02:16:03 | Speaker 3:

I've had both. Both have it.

02:16:04 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 5:

That's so funny. I could see where you'd do that. Like, if I could ultimately do that, there's times where I've gone to Coney Islands, and I'm like, I like their Greek salads, but I want McDonald's French fries with the Greek salad, you know?

02:16:16 - 02:16:25 | Speaker 4:

Exactly, yeah. I'm sure they'll frown on it. You've got to be sneaky. Well, I think it's against, like, food. Yeah, yeah, there probably is a health code violation. Marky, what's up?

02:16:25 - 02:16:41 | Speaker 7:

Hi, happy St. Patrick's Day, Mark. I want Tordach McDonald's chicken nuggets for the bartender because he was having a rough night.

02:16:41 - 02:16:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, nice. So we're not going to get in trouble with Spike bringing in his Dunkin' Donuts here, or his Dunkin'.

02:16:48 - 02:16:50 | Speaker 7:

I feel like it'll be fine.

02:16:50 - 02:16:52 | Speaker 4:

Honestly, that's probably better than a cash tip.

02:16:52 - 02:16:54 | Speaker 7:

You guys can get away with stuff.

02:16:54 - 02:16:55 | Speaker 6:

But you have to bring some for the bartender.

02:16:55 - 02:17:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, if you get chicken nuggets for the bartender, she's going to appreciate that even more than a cash tip.

02:17:00 - 02:17:09 | Speaker 6:

See, that's what I'm really most upset about is, yes, you can bring in the Dunkin', that's fine, but you didn't share with anybody else here. I've wanted Starbucks all morning because I'm so used to a Starbucks, and they weren't open.

02:17:09 - 02:17:18 | Speaker 4:

Surprise, Mike, I got you a bacon at Crescent. Yay! Oh, Katie, don't touch my button.

02:17:19 - 02:17:52 | Speaker 5:

Leave her alone. I'm joking. Katie's been doing a fabulous job. keeping us together today. We love her. I have to give out the Taylor Swift word right now. Shannon's got Dirty on Taylor coming up here in a second. Text the word SWIFT to 95500 for a chance to win Taylor Swift tickets. That's SWIFT. Text that right now to 95500. It's text for Taylor. Standard text and data rates to apply. Mojo in the mornings, Dirty on the 30. Now we do it. All right, Shannon, what you got?

02:17:52 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 1:

Well, Billie Eilish is set to make her acting debut in Donald Glover's Amazon Prime video series called Swarm. If you haven't heard about this, it's a series that follows this young woman named Dre, whose obsession with one of the world's biggest pop stars sets her on this dark journey across the country, and she meets all of these people on her way. And Billie Eilish is just one of the many unexpected supporting players who crosses paths with Dominique Fishback's character of Dre.

02:18:20 - 02:18:29 | Speaker 2:

Do you know what it's supposed to be loosely based off of? No. NXIVM. Oh, yes. Yes. That weird cult? Yes. The one where they all got branded? Yes. Yes. Yes.

02:18:29 - 02:18:36 | Speaker 1:

So, Billie, by the way, looks insanely gorgeous in the clip that she shared to social media yesterday. She's got blonde hair. Here it is.

02:18:37 - 02:18:40 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we don't have it because these guys didn't figure that out.

02:18:40 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 1:

That's okay. Also dropping yesterday, Taylor Swift has released four new tracks in celebration of the Eres Tour. Those were available to 50s and everybody at midnight. The four tracks include some re-recordings of her songs on the 2012 soundtrack to The Hunger Games, Eyes Open and Safe and Sound, as well as If This Was a Movie, but Taylor's version. And then she also dropped an ever-before-heard song called All of the Girls That You Loved Before. So you can check those out. I also linked them on the Dirty page at mojointhemorning.com. So I think it really is like over-over for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. They are set to throw in the towel and make that announcement, like, any day now. I'm hearing that it's over from multiple sources, and everybody's telling me the same thing. She is fed up with him. They're not even on speaking terms at this point. And, yes, there was cheating on his part, and we're going to get all of the tea about that in the next couple of weeks. I'll be honest. I mean, she showed up to the Askers, the Vanity Fair party, with no MGK and no engagement ring.

02:19:40 - 02:19:45 | Speaker 5:

Do we think anything, like, was anybody like, oh, my God, they didn't last?

02:19:45 - 02:19:52 | Speaker 4:

I really thought they were forever. I mean, the only thing I'm shocked about is that we're finding about now and not on a future episode in two months.

02:19:53 - 02:19:54 | Speaker 1:

Right, or something, yeah.

02:19:54 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 5:

You hope that somebody's going to turn their life around and maybe, you know, be a good boyfriend, but I just think...

02:20:00 - 02:20:06 | Speaker 3:

that mgk is like i don't know he's like just f material that's it right f boy material would

02:20:06 - 02:20:26 | Speaker 4:

you would you no no no would i no no no but like i know people who have because he was from cleveland and got around the toledo area and like it blows me away i i don't see it with him like i don't find the hot fact and he's very a lot of girls think he's hot the rumor is he's very um

02:20:26 - 02:20:41 | Speaker 3:

Well and down? Oh, he's selfish. Oh, well, good. I am not a selfish person. I want the rumor to be that I'm not a selfish person. Real quick, though, but I look at, you know, what's his name? Davidson. Pete Davidson. Pete Davidson.

02:20:41 - 02:20:42 | Speaker 4:

He got BDE, though.

02:20:42 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 3:

And they look like brothers.

02:20:45 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 4:

No, see, Pete Davidson's kind of like nerdy cute, though. Yes. I think he's so cute.

02:20:48 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think he's a couple steps above MGK.

02:20:51 - 02:20:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and he actually has a personality.

02:20:52 - 02:20:57 | Speaker 1:

Like, I would date Pete Davidson. and I wouldn't hate that. MGK's slimy to me. I don't like dirt off.

02:20:57 - 02:21:01 | Speaker 2:

But give credit where credit is due. MGK's hair transplant looks good.

02:21:01 - 02:21:04 | Speaker 1:

Oh, does he have hair transplant? Look at you. How do you know that?

02:21:04 - 02:21:05 | Speaker 2:

How do you know that?

02:21:07 - 02:21:31 | Speaker 4:

Okay, another relationship update, though. It was former GMA3 co-host Amy Robach and TJ Holmes back in the dirty. I just found out they are pitching a show to the producers behind the Ellen DeGeneres show. So this is why they're PDA-ing it up for the paparazzi and not trying to hide out in Mexico and Miami and all of these other places that they've been, it's way easier to pitch themselves if they stay in the news. So they're selling their chemistry here. You know what?

02:21:31 - 02:21:38 | Speaker 3:

I think they need it right now. If you watch daytime television, the talk shows are awful. I mean, it's...

02:21:38 - 02:21:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, so they're pitching a show to Ellen's producers, and then they're also, I'm told, pitching a show to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. They want to do something through them.

02:21:47 - 02:21:49 | Speaker 3:

They'll produce it or something? Yeah.

02:21:49 - 02:22:28 | Speaker 4:

Georgia Bulldogs head coach, Kirby Smart, recently shared a secret of Bill Belichick's success in New England. He likes to draft players who have big butts. Oh. This is the greatest story. So Smart claims that Nick Saban told him this when Saban was head coach for the Miami Dolphins and Kirby Smart was a position coach. I think this all happened at the NFL Combine, like, years and years ago, 2006 maybe. And, yeah, Bill liked to look to see how big the guys' butts were when they get down into that 40-yard stance because he wanted to sign the biggest-ass defensive lineman that he could sign.

02:22:28 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 3:

And there's something to it. I had a high school coach that used to say that.

02:22:32 - 02:22:33 | Speaker 4:

They're good anchor.

02:22:33 - 02:22:39 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that they have good center of gravity and very strong to be able to get through big dudes.

02:22:39 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 4:

It's just funny when you're like, yeah, I'm looking for the biggest butt. Yeah, right. I was there, but it was true.

02:22:43 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 2:

When they go to pick all those players, they go deep into, like, detail. Like, are they single parents, or did they come from single parents? Do they look, yeah, they go through all of that stuff. Yeah, yeah, to find, like, players for teams. It's wild.

02:22:56 - 02:23:17 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, you're going to see this everywhere today because it is trending. A shopper at Aldi picked up a bag of marshmallow bunnies and chicks. Easter's only a few weeks away. Well, the marshmallows were supposed to look like cute little yellow and pink bunnies and chicks. They definitely look like penises, 10,000%. You can see what I'm talking about, along with all of today's Dirty, on that Dirty page at MojoInTheMorning.com.

02:23:17 - 02:23:32 | Speaker 1:

Let's go! Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30, and another world-famous phone scan is next. Now stop talking and finish your whiskey. This is Mojo in the Morning, live from Kennedy's Harvest Pub in Waterford.

02:23:33 - 02:23:54 | Speaker 3:

So, very nice listeners. We have very nice listeners here. But honestly, I don't trust any of them. I just had a listener come up and tried to give me cookies they baked. Yeah. And then another listener came up and tried to give me a bucket. Where is she at, by the way? Grab her, KP, and have her come up on the stage with it.

02:23:54 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 4:

I saw a bucket being passed around.

02:23:55 - 02:24:03 | Speaker 3:

She drove up. By the way, did you know that we have, like, a third of this place drove in from either Grand Rapids or drove in from Toledo?

02:24:03 - 02:24:16 | Speaker 4:

Or Canada. In Canada. We have a bunch of Canadian listeners here, too. Yes, the girls from Windsor. Please take me back. Who apparently had a hard time crossing the border and trying to convince agents that they were going to a bar at 6 in the morning. I say magic thing.

02:24:16 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 3:

What is your name?

02:24:17 - 02:24:17 | Speaker 2:

Julia.

02:24:17 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 3:

Julia's from Toledo.

02:24:19 - 02:24:19 | Speaker 2:

Hi.

02:24:19 - 02:24:22 | Speaker 3:

She's from, are you Megan's neighbor?

02:24:22 - 02:24:28 | Speaker 2:

Yes. Pretty much. I bought her dinner once with her for a dad. She did. Oh, my God, really? She's very nice.

02:24:28 - 02:24:31 | Speaker 3:

She went out on a date with your dad? What did she say? I can't hear it.

02:24:31 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 2:

It was the Michigan and Ohio State game and I saw it. Oh. Yeah. Okay.

02:24:34 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. You brought out.

02:24:35 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 4:

We were blitzed.

02:24:36 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 3:

she brought booze for us you can't bring booze to a bar yes you can no you can't shannon no you can't shannon the reason why i got to carry all this stuff home i don't want them here's what i want oh my god when you come when you come to our broadcast we want you to just bring you bring you. We love you.

02:25:00 - 02:25:03 | Speaker 2:

You can bring those, too. You're so nice. What did you bring? What was that, by the way?

02:25:03 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 1:

It was a mix, a daiquiri mix bucket with a... I didn't know what to do.

02:25:08 - 02:25:15 | Speaker 2:

It is strawberry daiquiri margarita mix. We're going to... Spike, we're going to do this in your hotel room at City Flats. Just get a funnel.

02:25:16 - 02:25:17 | Speaker 1:

Pour it right down my throat.

02:25:17 - 02:26:08 | Speaker 2:

And a bottle of Bacardi. Oh, my. Too sweet. Give me a hug. Come here. Come on. Get over here. I love you. Love you. Thank you. Oh, my God. Does anybody, by the way, have money? I'd like unmarked bills. If you're going to bring anything to us, bring a big bag of it, and we'll take that. And Skittles. And Skittles are good, too. Yeah, I really want Skittles. I don't know why. Let's do a phone scam real quick. Scott bought a car and won't shut up about it. He was always bragging about it. Back in the day, we did this phone scam for a classic phone scam Friday where Spike called him up. We had his buddies take the fuse out so that his wipers wouldn't work, and then we made him go to his car because we told him there was a recall. It's a Mojo in the Morning phone scam. It's Mojo in the Morning phone scams.

02:26:13 - 02:27:36 | Speaker 1:

Hello? Hey, how you doing, Buttercup? I'm looking for Scott Mero Perfavori. What's that? This is Scott. This is Gregory Strassel from the Toyota Safety Compliance Division. You recently purchased a Toyota Camry. Yeah. There's a small problem with your vehicle there. It's under a possible recall, and we've been asked by the National Highway Traffic Safety Board to contact every new car owner and determine whether or not the new car has been experiencing this problem. If I can just ask you to grab the keys and head down to your car in the driveway or the garage, it should take about 30 seconds.

02:27:37 - 02:27:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm a bitch. They're not working.

02:27:39 - 02:27:49 | Speaker 1:

Okay, looks like your car needs to be brought in, but let's just confirm and document it here with the audio test. All right. We're about to begin the test. It takes about 30 seconds, and I'll explain what to do as we go along, okay?

02:27:50 - 02:27:51 | Unknown:

All right.

02:27:51 - 02:28:24 | Speaker 1:

Horn test R482 Alpha Omega Dash Horn 7, Southwest District Toyota Horn Test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Right now? Oh, sir. I forgot to mention you can't talk during a test because we're recording it here into the computer, and your voice will throw off the computer. We just need to hear only the horn on your end. All right. So, I have to start again then. Horn test R-482-alpha-omega-horn-7-octopi-delta, Southwest District, Toyota horn test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession.

02:28:26 - 02:28:28 | Unknown:

One, two, three.

02:28:29 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 1:

Sir, you spoke again, sir.

02:28:32 - 02:28:32 | Unknown:

Sorry.

02:28:32 - 02:29:46 | Speaker 1:

All right, we'll just start again. Horn test R-482-alpha-omega-octopi-zippy-pinky, Southwest District, Toyota horn test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Wait a minute. What was that? I heard another horn. Was somebody honking at you? Well, yeah, I'm on the street. People think I'm honking at them. Ah, great. Okay, we just need to start again because that's going to mess up the test. I can't keep honking at people all day. Well, this will only take 30 seconds if we can just get through it really fast. Horn test R482, Alpha Omega, Zippy Pinky Delta, Southwest District, Toyota horn test. Please sound the horn three times in rapid succession. Hold in the horn for five seconds. Turn on the headlights. Now honk your horn. Oh, sir. We might be able to fix this over the phone and you won't have to come in. Okay, turn the headlights off. Okay, we need six rapid sounds of the horn. Okay, turn the headlights on. Three long bursts of the horn. Okay, now try the wipers. Are they working?

02:29:47 - 02:29:48 | Unknown:

Can I talk?

02:29:49 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, we're not doing the audio anymore. No, wipers are dead. All right, one more quick one. This should work then. Turn the headlights off and the wipers off. Okay. Okay, now honk five times as if...

02:30:00 - 02:31:33 | Speaker 4:

If you're counting five seconds, turn the wipers on, now two big honks, now turn off the wipers, turn on the wipers, and give me one long honk of the horn again for like five seconds and then do do do do do what you know what to do do do do do do do you knew it okay this is the last thing i want you to hold down the horn and in a clear speaking voice say get out of my lane buddy are you serious this is the last thing what is that supposed to do Trust me, it sounds silly, but if you do it, hold down the horn and in a clear speaking voice say, Get out of my lane, buddy. Get out of my lane, buddy! A little bit more passion. This is f***ing stupid. I know, you think I have nothing better to do all day than to call customers who bought our cars and harass them? Get out of my lane, buddy! Okay, perfect. Now turn on the wipers and they should be working. No, they're not. Oh, wait, I'm sorry, that's because I don't work for Toyota. This is Spike from the Mojo on the Morning Show. You've just been phone scammed. Oh, dude, I'm not going to work. Your roommate, Paul, just made a complete ass out of you. You asshole.

02:31:37 - 02:32:00 | Speaker 2:

We will, we will scam you. Mojo in the Morning phone scams are done for entertainment purposes only. Unless you're that putz who just got scammed, sucker. We will, we will scam you. Mojo in the Morning. Your home of the world-famous phone scams. This is Mojo in the Morning live.

02:32:02 - 02:32:34 | Speaker 1:

It's crazy here. We're at Kennedy's Irish Pub in Waterford, Michigan. There's so many people that are here, and this is a very tiny establishment, but they do have the big tent in the backyard here. and they're now having to tow cars because there's so many cars that are literally doing what I said and that's illegally parking on the street. So if your car gets towed, I'm actually going to switch over in about 20 minutes from now to an Uber driver and I will be driving you to your car.

02:32:34 - 02:32:37 | Speaker 4:

What do they call it? Prime time or whatever? It is.

02:32:38 - 02:32:44 | Speaker 1:

Surge pricing. It's Mo Surge. I'm going to sell my parking spot too. What do you think about that?

02:32:44 - 02:32:45 | Speaker 4:

You have to today.

02:32:45 - 02:32:52 | Speaker 1:

It's a premium. So we're hanging out here. KP, our producer. By the way, social looks great. Unbelievable.

02:32:52 - 02:32:53 | Speaker 4:

You've done a good job.

02:32:53 - 02:32:56 | Speaker 3:

You've been busy. It looks so good, KP. Thank you.

02:32:56 - 02:33:07 | Speaker 1:

So the drunk contest that we did, the breathalyzer test contest, you've got to go see what Mike, the guy, looked like that we breathalyzed test. Go check him out.

02:33:07 - 02:33:10 | Speaker 4:

What are you going to do with that breathalyzer now that it was in his mouth?

02:33:10 - 02:33:31 | Speaker 1:

So here's the thing. Yeah. It comes with tips that you can, like, clean and do outside. Oh, boy. I'm throwing this thing right in the freaking trash. It was $36, by the way, on Amazon, so there is no way this thing's making it home with me. Yeah, wow. I know, but do you want to have that man's COVID on your hair? No, I'm good, thank you. Hey, Wes, your boyfriend's here? No. Or your fiancé? We're good.

02:33:32 - 02:33:33 | Speaker 3:

Say no. We don't want it.

02:33:33 - 02:33:56 | Speaker 1:

I want you to take this home, and I want you to put it on her lips at night. Do not. So. Hey, now. So we were having a conversation during the commercial break. KP, who is our producer, done a fabulous job. Her mom is here. We've got to make her look good in front of her mom. Yeah. Do you know this girl right here? She says you're tough on her, by the way.

02:33:56 - 02:33:57 | Speaker 4:

I am. I know. That's my job.

02:33:58 - 02:34:02 | Speaker 1:

So I've got to be just as tough with her working at the station, or no? Do I have to lighten up a little bit?

02:34:03 - 02:34:06 | Speaker 3:

I think she works hard under pressure, so go for it. She does? All right.

02:34:06 - 02:34:09 | Speaker 2:

You really do. When people yell at me, that's when I get stuff done.

02:34:09 - 02:34:20 | Speaker 1:

My favorite thing that KP does, and she's the only person I know, if you tell her something that you want to have, like, done differently, she'll go, can you give me an example of that? She does that.

02:34:20 - 02:34:25 | Speaker 3:

I got to see it. I got to see what you're painting in your head first, and then I'll paint it for you.

02:34:25 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 1:

So we do it. So I coached basketball for so many years, and I loved players like KP because players like KP were the ones that, first off, would go out there and they would, you know, they'd fight a good fight. But also, they wanted the visual of what was going on, so I love that. So, real quick, one thing you do not want a visual of is a hot girl eating certain foods.

02:34:48 - 02:34:49 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:34:49 - 02:34:51 | Speaker 1:

And there are certain foods that hot girls can't eat?

02:34:51 - 02:34:56 | Speaker 3:

Apparently, according to my mother and my sister. I got a text yesterday. What's your sister's name? Emily.

02:34:57 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

02:34:57 - 02:35:00 | Speaker 3:

Emily. So, she texted this meme that said that.

02:35:00 - 02:35:12 | Speaker 5:

people who eat coleslaw are going to hell and I'm like what does that mean Emily and I'm like I literally just had coleslaw for dinner I love coleslaw I love coleslaw too I love that we all

02:35:12 - 02:35:22 | Speaker 1:

can't say it yeah coleslaw sobriety test right there's certain words that you say even if you're not drunk you sound like you're drunk mama KP are you also agreeing on this one do you think that

02:35:22 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 5:

you can't eat coleslaw I don't know if you're gonna get it all over your chin and dribble and Well, you texted back yesterday and you said, you're pretty, you can eat coleslaw. You can eat anything you want when you're pretty.

02:35:33 - 02:35:38 | Speaker 1:

Wait, so pretty girls can get away with eating it, but not pretty girls can't eat coleslaw.

02:35:38 - 02:35:40 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm just saying that pretty girls can do anything they want.

02:35:40 - 02:35:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh, really?

02:35:41 - 02:35:44 | Speaker 5:

Is that what it is? I mean, I get, I don't know.

02:35:44 - 02:35:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, because if she's dripping on her chin, she'll look cute, and she's dabbing it with a napkin. Exactly, she's dabbing it with a napkin.

02:35:49 - 02:35:54 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever seen me eat anything? I literally look like a child. She needs a bib.

02:35:54 - 02:36:02 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what did you order when we went out to eat last week, a week ago, before the baseball game?

02:36:03 - 02:36:03 | Speaker 5:

Tacos.

02:36:04 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, it was like tacos. She's eating tacos, and these tacos were messy tacos, too.

02:36:09 - 02:36:16 | Speaker 4:

If you have anything else for her to do, she's getting hangry. I ordered her a breakfast burrito. She didn't have a chance to eat it. Oh, my God. I ordered her a corned beef hash. She didn't have a chance to eat it.

02:36:16 - 02:36:21 | Speaker 1:

If she doesn't have, seriously, if her blood sugar gets to a certain point, she's crazy. Very hangry.

02:36:21 - 02:36:24 | Speaker 4:

She's very hangry. You need a tranquilizer dart.

02:36:24 - 02:37:01 | Speaker 1:

You know what's amazing about this? The whole idea of hot girls. And you'll have to call us up and tell us, like, what are certain foods that only hot girls can eat? Because for me being a fat guy my whole life, there were certain foods that you just don't touch. Like, you can't eat fried. A fat guy can't eat fried chicken in front of a bunch of people because guess what? They automatically look at you and, you know, you don't look like, you know, Colonel Sanders. You know what I mean? So you can't do it. There's certain foods. And then the other one, too, is if a fat guy sits down in front of a big old thing of ribs or crab legs.

02:37:02 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 3:

I was going to say crab legs is a great one.

02:37:03 - 02:37:08 | Speaker 1:

Because the moment they put the bib on you, you're the fat guy.

02:37:08 - 02:37:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. I feel like the girl from White Girls. When you go out to dinner, you can literally order anything you want, and nobody can judge you.

02:37:14 - 02:37:15 | Speaker 1:

It's not fair.

02:37:16 - 02:37:23 | Speaker 2:

I get self-conscious about meeting any of the phallic things, like a banana or a corn dog. You see me licking an ice cream cone.

02:37:23 - 02:38:05 | Speaker 1:

eating sushi because I cannot fit. You can't fit it in your mouth. It's very hard for me to fit a whole roll in my mouth. That's what she said. And then it just looks like I'm a chipmunk trying to chew it. So I have to cover my hand with my mouth. It's just awkward. I thought you were going to say you can't use chopsticks. No I can use chopsticks. I will say this to you about girls in sushi. I actually would dump a girl that doesn't put the whole sushi in her mouth. You mean you don't like them to bite it in hand? If you first off you bite it, and then it all spills out But the whole thing is you got to put it in your mouth and chew on it It's got to be you know, it's got to be something

02:38:05 - 02:38:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, if you have to mean it Shannon put the whole thing in your mouth

02:38:10 - 02:38:21 | Speaker 1:

I Mean I I will tell you this this is a messy eating day st. Patrick's Day because corned beef is not an easy thing Because it's like fatty and it's

02:38:21 - 02:38:23 | Speaker 4:

Do you eat coleslaw in your Reuben, or do you like sauerkraut?

02:38:24 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 1:

Sauerkraut, better, but you've got to have that Russian dressing on it, too, like Thousand Island or whatever. And grilled. If it's dried, it's awful. Yeah. I love, by the way, I love Reuben's. I mean, those are the greatest.

02:38:37 - 02:38:37 | Speaker 2:

With the cheese.

02:38:38 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. What is that, like, Swiss cheese? Swiss cheese, yeah. Yeah. It's so good. All right, well, here's the thing with your daughter. Let me talk about a few more things with her.

02:38:47 - 02:38:50 | Speaker 4:

I feel like I'm a parent-teacher. I know. Sit down.

02:38:50 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 1:

So now let me tell you this. Honestly, I said this, I tell her this all the time. I need her to have more faith in herself, okay? She's better than she thinks that she is, which I think is a good thing and a bad thing. Sometimes people don't think that they're as good as they are, you know what I mean? They'll work harder and stuff. I need her. So you've got to talk to her about that.

02:39:13 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 5:

I'm setting the bar low so I always exceed your expectations. No, you don't.

02:39:17 - 02:39:22 | Speaker 1:

You set the bar high. She gives me that, and she doesn't smile at all to me. Why does she not smile for me?

02:39:22 - 02:39:24 | Speaker 4:

She has that intense look.

02:39:24 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 1:

She's intense, and it's the voice, too. Her voice is like, it's so, like, stern. It's got that stern voice on.

02:39:34 - 02:39:47 | Speaker 5:

It's how to get stuff done. Yeah. Exactly. You think anyone would listen to me if I would like this? Oh, guys, if you could please. Hey, guys, can you please? That and eating coleslaw. During the broadcast. Exactly. Eating coleslaw? Yeah, nobody.

02:39:47 - 02:39:53 | Speaker 1:

But she is killing it, by the way. She is killing it in her hometown. I know, can you even believe it? Isn't that unbelievable?

02:39:53 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. So embarrassing talking about anything related to sex life in your hometown. Yeah, and your first grade teacher's history.

02:40:00 - 02:40:01 | Speaker 3:

and your grandma texts to you.

02:40:01 - 02:40:05 | Speaker 1:

Lala's on the phone. Oh, God, my mother checked me. Has grandma said anything about the tux?

02:40:05 - 02:40:06 | Speaker 3:

I tell you what.

02:40:06 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah?

02:40:07 - 02:40:09 | Speaker 3:

Which one? Which one was the one that really went over the edge?

02:40:11 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 1:

Our favorite, our youth fountain grandmother, Lala. She's very happy. Kristen texted me because my mother kept responding to all of the commenters for the listeners on her picture. She looks so young. What's your skin care regimen? My mother answered every single one of them. I was wondering why we had so many comments. Kristen said, Lala's an influencer now. Look.

02:40:32 - 02:40:54 | Speaker 2:

My favorite, though, with KP is the fact that she does do the balancing of things. Like, she'll talk about stuff that's going on in her life, not, you know, worried about it. So, and who else? She's got her relationships with her grandparents. They're unbelievable. For God's sakes, I mean, Lala, but she also lives with her grandparents. Which, when did they come back up from being snowbirds?

02:40:54 - 02:40:56 | Speaker 1:

A couple months. We need them back up.

02:40:56 - 02:41:01 | Speaker 2:

I want to do a segment, a weekly segment, with your grandpa and grandma.

02:41:01 - 02:41:02 | Speaker 1:

Graham and gramps.

02:41:02 - 02:42:08 | Speaker 2:

02:42:27 - 02:42:34 | Speaker 2:

Why is Victoria on the phone? Why is Victoria not just talking on Megan's microphone? Come on, hang up your phone, Victoria.

02:42:35 - 02:42:43 | Speaker 3:

Come over here. Come over here. She was lucky enough to get through on the phone lines, but she's also standing in front of the speaker causing an increasingly amazing sonic intervention.

02:42:43 - 02:42:46 | Speaker 1:

This gentleman is playing as well, and he's on the phone. How did that happen?

02:42:46 - 02:42:51 | Speaker 3:

There's people here. Go over to Megan. Who are you playing? Hello, Mike. Oh, you're Mike.

02:42:52 - 02:43:03 | Speaker 2:

We have another guy here that's playing, too. Are you kidding me? The people were in the bar playing the throwback. All right, so here's... That's great. Because this is such a mess and such a train wreck right now... Are you playing?

02:43:04 - 02:43:08 | Speaker 3:

No, she's playing. She's playing. That's her bodyguard. Oh, okay.

02:43:10 - 02:43:13 | Speaker 2:

All right. Hang up your phones.

02:43:13 - 02:43:14 | Speaker 3:

She just fell off the stage. Oh, she did.

02:43:14 - 02:43:16 | Speaker 2:

All right, Katie, take the phones off the air.

02:43:16 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 3:

Okay, all right.

02:43:18 - 02:43:34 | Speaker 2:

All right, stop for a second. This is a train wreck of train wrecks right now. This is not a good, this is not good radio. All right, the idea of having them play on the phone lines is because they're not with us in the bar.

02:43:36 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 3:

Somehow.

02:43:36 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 2:

If they made it through on that, we should tell them to come up to the table here. So here's what we got. Mike was with Katrina. Everybody else, you guys are free and clear. So why don't you just grab a couple more people. What is your name? Victoria. Victoria, okay, write this down. Victoria's with Megan. Hi, Victoria.

02:43:53 - 02:43:54 | Speaker 3:

All right.

02:43:54 - 02:45:09 | Speaker 2:

And your friend, come on up here. This is Delaney. What is your name? Delaney. Delaney. Delaney, I'm playing for you, okay? Delaney, you made it in. Nice. We talked to you earlier. Yes, yes, yes. So, here's what we got. What do we have? I know what we got. This is a throwback throwdown. Somebody wake me up and tell me that I dreamt this entire hour, 45 minutes. Here we go. Where is that noise coming from? Somebody hang your phone up and throw that phone out the window. She fell off the stage. She literally just threw her phone. And Katie, hang up on the phone lines. Here's the problem. It's lean back by the terror squad. Not all the people you just threw out there. They just call themselves the terror squad.

02:55:20 - 02:55:28 | Speaker 2:

Paul Wall was on that. He should have been. It feels like he tried at one point, and then they're just like, no.

02:55:29 - 02:55:38 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to say one of those Irish sayings that make no sense, but when they're drunk, they're always like, well, may the devil eat you, and the cat eat the devil. And you're like, what? What are you doing?

02:55:39 - 02:55:42 | Speaker 2:

That's how my brain works during this game. Yeah. What are you doing up there?

02:55:42 - 02:55:43 | Speaker 1:

02:56:32 - 02:56:37 | Speaker 1:

What a depressing song to play in a Friday in a barn. Everybody, come on.

02:56:41 - 02:56:44 | Speaker 2:

You can't hear the words, can you? You can't hear the song at all.

02:57:46 - 02:57:48 | Speaker 3:

nicer broadcast than we do.

02:57:49 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 2:

No promises, but there will be an ice sculpture of your face to keep us company. I'm going to be there, so I'm going to be there to expect it. Where exactly is it going to be broadcast from? Grand Rapids Brewing Company, which if you're in downtown Grand Rapids, it's right on the corner of Ionia and Fulton, and it is literally the entrance to Irish and Ionia. Will families come?

02:58:08 - 02:58:10 | Speaker 3:

Is your brother and girlfriend coming?

02:58:10 - 02:58:15 | Speaker 2:

Are Allie and the kids going to be there? Allie's coming. They're going to join us later, but it's just me.

02:58:15 - 02:58:18 | Speaker 1:
