00:02:02 - 00:02:03 | Speaker 5:

All right, are you ready?

00:02:04 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 3:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

00:02:06 - 00:02:07 | Speaker 5:

You're a doo-doo hack.

00:02:11 - 00:02:59 | Unknown:

It's showtime! We'll be right back.

00:03:00 - 00:03:23 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Joe, the morning show. Shannon got caught with her hand, not in the cookie jar, but her nose or knuckle in her nose.

00:03:24 - 00:03:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Wait.

00:03:28 - 00:03:29 | Speaker 5:

There's nothing worse.

00:03:29 - 00:03:34 | Speaker 6:

So let me tell you, if you say that you've never picked your nose, you are a liar.

00:03:34 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 5:

Right. Everybody does. If you've eaten it, now that's a different story altogether.

00:03:38 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 6:

Okay. This was not that good case. So I pick up the kids from school and we're like driving because I wanted to run some errands, like get my car washed and stuff. So I pick the kids up, we're driving, and there was something in my nose and I wanted to get it out. Right. So it's me, Lucy's in the passenger seat, and then Smith is in the back. We're stopped at a light, and I see these kids waving and trying to get my attention in the back of the school bus in front of me. And Lucy's like, oh, mom, there's Erin, and there's all my friends on that bus. And I was like, oh, F. I didn't think about this, and I didn't realize that there was a school bus with all of my daughter's friends in the back, right in front of us as I was picking my nose. And I'm like, this poor girl is probably going to hear about it at school tomorrow. And they're going to be like, Lucy, we saw your mom picking her nose. You just ruined her reputation for the next 10 years. And my own. And my own.

00:04:40 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 5:

You now officially have become an official mom because every mom always embarrasses their kid in the school pickup line.

00:04:46 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. And this was right after the pickup line. Or dead.

00:04:49 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Yep, like I've had more butt cracks shown by my kids my kids friends that usually how many times it might does my butt Crack show Chelsea always has to tell me all the time

00:05:00 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 2:

can you please pull your pants up my butt crack just all the time do you remember the time shane i don't even know maybe it was back when sarah was here the listener that caught a picture of me with uh myself picking my nose was it did you get that too yeah i wait that's right i think it's

00:05:17 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

happened to ever you and i have a lot in common something like that i feel like has happened to everybody on the show where we're out in public and you know it's yeah you're whatever it's real life and then someone's like oh i think that's kev doing the morning show and then takes a picture

00:05:32 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 2:

and posts it and i'd rather have that than if somebody had a video or a picture of me on my couch my hand is always in my pants and it is no doubt you got to smell just to make sure that they're clean don't you smell the nuts you do it wait but not in public no but at home i'll do that Like, at home, I'll do it.

00:05:56 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 3:

I probably have before, I'm sure. My favorite thing is being stuck in traffic or at a red light and looking over and seeing, like, somebody digging in their nose or eating food all crazy. Like, that's when, for some reason, when you're in your car, you think you're in your home. You think nobody can see you for some reason.

00:06:11 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 1:

I know, but can you imagine, like, looking, like, being on the bus and looking at the car behind you and being like, that's Lucy's mom.

00:06:18 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 3:

I'm so loud. Everybody look, look.

00:06:20 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text is 95500 um it's so funny that the school pickup line is where it happens because that is like the place where as a kid everything gets more magnified for some reason if it happens in front of your friends it's worse than if your mom like if your kids saw you picking nose in the car they'd laugh about it well they don't yeah they're picking their

00:06:50 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 1:

knows too yeah but your friends you know right they see that and i love embarrassing lucian smith in the pickup line like i love pumping up the music i love dancing crazy or like screaming out i missed you all day i love doing that stuff but that's like me knowingly doing those things this

00:07:11 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 2:

was not um you know it's it's wild you don't normally pick up your kids though right it's

00:07:18 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 1:

I pick up my kids every day, every day that I have them.

00:07:21 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 2:

Yes. From school or the school? From school.

00:07:23 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 1:

Yep.

00:07:23 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 2:

I thought, why did I think your kids took a bus and it all commiserated by your house?

00:07:28 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 1:

No, in previous years they did, but they were on the bus for about 40 minutes on the way home. And so at the end of last year, I put the kibosh on that and just started picking them up.

00:07:37 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 2:

Do we not have like good bus routes anymore? There's only one bus driver.

00:07:41 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

There's a shortage of bus drivers in a lot of the districts, including mine. And so they combine routes or routes, whatever, routes, routes, and they cram as many kids on these buses as they can safely, I think. And but it was just taking so long.

00:07:57 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 2:

So they weren't getting home. They weren't getting out at three. They're not home till five.

00:08:01 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 1:

No, like for real. And it was it was causing a lot of problems with like sports schedules. And also I didn't want them sitting on the bus for 40. It was 40 minutes.

00:08:09 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

See, I wish I grew up nowadays because of I my kids also got us. we picked them up too but they went to a catholic school and they only had like one bus route and it would drop you off at like a parking lot somewhere like you'd have to go like meet it somewhere but i to me riding the bus was it molded who i was as a kid it made me hate people because you had the kids on the bus that were the the the jerk offs and then you had the kids on the bus that were kind of the nerds i sat in the middle of the bus like it was always like the smart kids were up front the kind of middle of the road you know you were kind of sometimes talked to by the cool kids and kind of sometimes the only people that would talk to you were the nerds in the front and then the back of the bus were all the guys that you hoped one day had drug addictions but but that was kind of like my that was kind of oh believe me jim parthamore

00:09:04 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 1:

I have no idea where you are

00:09:09 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

Jim Parthamore but you were mean but that was kind of your thing that you had but these kids don't ride buses anymore now that's the reason why the school parking lots are like it's like the mall at Christmas time it's nuts look who's that with us Jim Parthamore? what is that noise? it's us turn your radio down That is Mojo, he should know better, he's a misfit. Mojo in the Morning Misfit, Baby Leg Jay.

00:09:38 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 1:

What up, Jay? Hey, Jay.

00:09:40 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 2:

Hey, hey, hey. Turn your radio down, Jay. Oh, yeah, it's not. No, it's not.

00:09:46 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 1:

No, I literally told him to turn it down, too.

00:09:48 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 2:

I can hear it. Can you hear me? Yeah, don't lie to us. There you go, there you go. What's going on, Jay?

00:09:54 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

No, I was commenting on what you guys said at night, so it's been free yesterday.

00:10:00 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 5:

I was at 8, and Shannon just happened to look over and seen the guy digging in his nose. Tell me why he licked it. I'm like, oh! There's that laugh. I almost ran the red light. I did. I almost ran the red light. Oh, that was gross.

00:10:17 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 2:

You know what? Good for him. It's good protein. What's up, Tiffany? How you doing?

00:10:23 - 00:10:24 | Speaker 5:

Good. How are you?

00:10:24 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 2:

Good. What's up?

00:10:26 - 00:10:33 | Speaker 5:

So I was at a red light, and the guy next to me was watching something very inappropriate on his phone.

00:10:33 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 2:

What? Tell us.

00:10:35 - 00:10:35 | Speaker 5:

Mm-hmm.

00:10:36 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 2:

Little, huh?

00:10:38 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 5:

He was watching something very dirty.

00:10:40 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 2:

He had Pornhub on there?

00:10:43 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yes.

00:10:44 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny about that? Can you imagine if your dad was in the school parking lot watching porn? Oh, my God. Has anybody ever had that? You put them both together? Could you imagine? Like, what would you do? Ann, can you imagine if it was in the minivan, the mom's minivan, and you're watching it?

00:11:05 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 5:

He was in a work van.

00:11:06 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 2:

He was? What company was it?

00:11:08 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 5:

Did he get the name of the business? How's my driving?

00:11:11 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 4:

I did not.

00:11:12 - 00:11:21 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You should call that number for the business and tell them that you saw that. Can you imagine? Yeah. Truck number 124 was watching that.

00:11:21 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 4:

I'd like a link to the video, please. It looks good.

00:11:23 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 2:

Did he look like he had, were his hands on the steering wheel at the time? Or what was he doing?

00:11:29 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 5:

I couldn't really tell because I was more worried about what he was watching than what he was doing.

00:11:34 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 2:

You know what's funny is now that you can't have your phones in your hand anymore, and I've got like the thing that sticks to the dashboard, everybody can see whatever I'm looking at. And I got the, because of Megan gave me the advice to do it, I got the big phone. So I got the big phone right now, which by the way, the big phone is great. I find myself watching that instead of watching stuff on my TV anymore.

00:11:56 - 00:11:57 | Speaker 4:

Yes. You're welcome, Chelsea.

00:11:57 - 00:12:11 | Speaker 2:

No. Well, no. Listen, now she just has me on my phone even more than I was before. But I've never done porn in the car. Like, I really have not. Honestly, I'm a freaky son of a bitch.

00:12:11 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 3:

But I just don't get the porn in the car thing. I'm a freaky son of a bitch. You know what I mean? I mean, if you look at it, and this sounds like I do it all the time. If you look at it like it's entertainment, then it's no different than you watching highlights of your favorite basketball game. I just can't. I'm trying to put my mind in their mind. No.

00:12:29 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 2:

My algorithm is so weird on Instagram, though, now it looks like porn. I have all these girls bouncing in bikinis on my algorithm, and Chelsea thinks that's all. I don't know how I've gotten it. You've been watching stuff. What am I watching?

00:12:41 - 00:13:00 | Speaker 4:

Okay, so I started watching before and afters on plastic surgery, and the videos that pop up in my search now are so horrifically inappropriate. that you would think I'm searching for. They're not anything to do with plastic surgery? No. It's like naked girls bouncing up and down. And it's like, I don't search for this, I swear. I just want to see what a tummy tuck looks like. Yeah.

00:13:01 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 2:

What's up? Initial C wants to be voices, guys. What's up, C?

00:13:05 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so I run training for my students.

00:13:12 - 00:13:14 | Speaker 2:

Do me a favor. Are you on a speakerphone?

00:13:16 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I took it off speakerphone.

00:13:18 - 00:13:21 | Speaker 2:

Oh, good. Okay. all right then talk again because i couldn't understand what you said in the beginning go

00:13:21 - 00:13:34 | Speaker 1:

ahead say it again okay so i was running a training on zoom and when people were in the breakout room i didn't realize my camera was still on and so when people came back i was

00:13:34 - 00:14:14 | Speaker 2:

picking my nose oh i thought it was going to be even worse than that like i was gonna be like yeah it was one of those because you've heard these stories about people that like what was the guy from cnn there was a member that it was like the jeffrey toobin the legal expert from cnn on his zoom he uh went to a break in zoom and he went and he you know oh yeah he stroked one out during yeah break while he was on he was on a zoom break yeah but everybody heard and saw so star what's up it's mojo in the morning hi hey guys how are you okay so my my street is

00:14:14 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 5:

kitty corner from a car wash and there was pouring rain one day i had something i needed to throw away so i just stopped real fast i went to go get out of my car and i stopped dead in my tracks in the pouring rain there was a car in the bay because it's a car wash where you can wash your own car the people in the car was moving back and forth the people were like totally getting it up

00:14:32 - 00:14:38 | Speaker 2:

in the car in the car wash how long does it take to go through a car wash

00:14:38 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 5:

I was standing there like I was frozen. I was soaked just standing there. I'm like, what is really going on? Yep, they were just getting it on. Then eventually they saw me just like standing there. So they hurried up and drove away.

00:14:51 - 00:14:54 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh.

00:14:54 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

It was the last of this day. It was the funniest thing. And I'm just like, wow. What if they would have pulled up in their car?

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's brutal.

00:15:03 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's called Jack's Car Wash.

00:15:08 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 2:

Shannon, she hides her crazy well. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Time to get dirty, baby. Tuesday dirties are my favorite days to get dirty. Megan, let's get dirty.

00:15:23 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 1:

So the DNA testing firm 23andMe has filed for bankruptcy protection after, I mean, years of struggling to find a profitable business model. The company said that their CEO and co-founder has resigned, but she would remain on the board of directors. Now, this company was founded back in 2006. They went public in 2021. They have never turned a profit. More than 15 million people have given the company DNA samples, which could be sold in these bankruptcy proceedings. But 23andMe does plan to continue operating. I'm guessing they're just hoping to be sold at this point. What's interesting to note here is Nate Johnson, who's a U.S. Treasury Department policy advisor, has exposed the 23andMe has been secretly sharing customer data with nearly every country, which I don't find surprising at all. What I think is very scary here is a lot of data is about to be sold, and that's all medical data. So if you ever use that service, don't know where your DNA is headed. they are not destroying it they are selling it clones so we have to do a huge spoiler alert here if you are a bachelor fan bachelor nation we are going to be talking about last night's bachelor finale so if you are a fan of the show and you didn't watch the episode this is your one yeah zach this is your warning turn your radio down for 30 seconds uh we will be back in 30 seconds but this like i don't want to get a single text that you were unprepared that this finale is about to be discussed. All right? All right. So Grant Ellis picked a final rose recipient last night on the Bachelor finale, and here is that proposal. Juliana?

00:17:10 - 00:17:11 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:17:14 - 00:17:16 | Speaker 4:

Will you marry me?

00:17:16 - 00:17:42 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. I'm really interested. Grant chose to propose to Juliana. He shared, oh, I'm sorry, she shared with Grant that he He made her feel deserving of the type of love you've given me. He later called it the happiest day of my life. Do we think they're still engaged? Yeah, no, me neither. No faith. I know, none at all. Have you seen the success rate of that show?

00:17:42 - 00:17:43 | Speaker 2:

I haven't seen the show at all.

00:17:43 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 1:

Neither have I, neither have I. But you know what, if you love it, good for you. Drake Bell is speaking about his painful past with his former Drake and Josh co-star, Josh Peck. Josh has his own podcast that Drake joined to sit down and talk about their time working together. Now, Drake Bell recalled his time working with Brian Peck, which is no relation, on the Nickelodeon set before Peck was convicted of sexually assaulting him in 2004 and the trauma

00:18:09 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 3:

caused when he returned to set. I came back to the same stage, the same parking lot, the same dressing room. Everything's triggering. And in the back of my head, the whole time I'm working with the pilot doing the pilot i know that there's this investigation happening and even though he

00:18:27 - 00:18:32 | Speaker 1:

had this really horrible experience on the set of their show drake and josh he also says that

00:18:32 - 00:18:45 | Speaker 3:

it was also the happiest place for him to be dude when lights camera action and i walk in and josh is wearing a dress like that was where i actually was comfortable and happy and stoked and i'm very

00:18:45 - 00:18:50 | Speaker 1:

proud of what we did they did talk about how their relationship started to separate while they were

00:18:50 - 00:19:01 | Speaker 4:

on the show together i could never have known at that age was all the things you were going through yeah for the most part it wasn't shared with me i just this separation started between us

00:19:01 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 1:

conversation follows bell's emotional revelations in the bombshell quiet on set docuseries you remember that exposing toxic workplaces at nickelodeon under dan schneider who is a showrunner there josh admitted that he didn't fully grasp the depth of bell's trauma until watching the documentary saying it's so much deeper it's so much more unacceptable their broad discussion continues actually in part two of the podcast which is going to be coming out on thursday sydney sweeney raises a lot of eyebrows after deleting a picture of her kissing her fiance or should we say possible ex-fiance from her instagram we've been talking about their possible breakup sydney sweeney's relationship with her fiance jonathan devino possibly being a bit shaky over here this isn't helping fans and followers did notice that a picture of the couple kissing ahead of new year's was removed from an instagram carousel that she had posted they were first rumored to be together in 2018 they got engaged back in 2020

00:20:00 - 00:20:17 | Speaker 2:

and they have been you know just swarmed by rumors that she was stepping out with co-stars glenn powell and brandon's lenar in the past but this coupled with the pair reportedly postponing their may wedding date last month is going to fire up that rumor mill once again

00:20:17 - 00:20:27 | Speaker 3:

check out all of today's dirty by listening to our podcast just search for mojo in the morning on the free iheart radio app go celebrity dirt directly from the source

00:20:30 - 00:21:08 | Speaker 4:

I was laying on the couch yesterday and I was on my computer, you know, setting up some stuff for, you know, for, uh, for work and I'm on the computer and I didn't know where my charger was cause my charger was running out of battery. So I sent a text message to Chelsea that says, do you know where my computer charger is? And she texts me back. It's right behind the couch. And I said, where are you? And she goes, I'm sitting right behind you at the kitchen. Are you guys the type that you, do you guys text in your own homes? I call. You make a phone call? You actually physically pick up the phone?

00:21:09 - 00:21:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:21:09 - 00:21:15 | Speaker 4:

So instead of screaming for them or getting up and actually walking, you will just pick up the phone and make a phone call.

00:21:15 - 00:21:28 | Speaker 1:

Well, because like sometimes Wes will go upstairs and I think he's going upstairs to just go to the bathroom and then it'll have been a while and he'll be like, what are you doing? Because I figure if he is like pooping or something, he's on his phone. So he has it in his hand already.

00:21:28 - 00:22:51 | Speaker 4:

We have a thing in our house where nobody in the house spends any time in the same room with each other. Everybody goes into different rooms, and it drives me crazy. Like, people don't want to spend, you know, there's five of us when all of us are together, but mainly it's usually three of us if Luke is home, and nobody will ever be in the same room together, and it drives me nuts. It's almost to the point where when we sell our house, our family home in in downsize to a smaller place i only want one television and it's for specific yes yes because i will even watch your stuff no you won't that'll get that'll get old quickly i want to spend time together kevin sounds good we you don't like that so in in my family you know we we do not talk to each other unless it's over text like we well nobody wants to physically actually walk upstairs to go get luke so nobody wants to walk up the stairs so instead you text hey luke where you at or i'll actually call him up to see like what he wants for dinner or what you know his order is if we're going to order something and then chelsea's usually in the room so she's in our bedroom i'm usually on the couch and i'm watching stuff on the uh on the couch but it's all done electronically i actually one point thought about going to get walkie-talkies legendary remember when you're a kid and y'all did you ever have a walkie-talkie yellow and

00:22:51 - 00:22:57 | Speaker 2:

black ones they're the best do you remember the next tell cell phones that you use as a walkie

00:22:57 - 00:23:27 | Speaker 4:

talkie that noise yeah like i i always wanted i that's what you know kind of what i want i want us all to be able to communicate with each other or some old homes had this i don't know if any of you guys have ever lived in a home but you would have uh actual uh little intercom systems that were set up like on the wall did you ever see those at all yeah they had and they could play radio and stuff like that the best the best version of that is you just talk through the

00:23:27 - 00:24:05 | Speaker 5:

vents and you just go hey oh my god man look my grandma and my house had it we're in the bathroom it was like a closed shoot the laundry yes bro we used to talk to each other through the laundry i loved doing that my grandma's house had that too yes but we have this new thing in our apartment It's like the intercom system, but it only works for, like, inside of the house and then the person at the front door, so you can say. Yeah, Wes has that in his. So if you pull it down, though, you can listen outside for, like, a good seven seconds. What? So anytime somebody leaves the house, I low-key pull it down to see if they talk crap before they leave. Or, like, the door dash person. I just hold it. I'm like, let me quiet. Try to listen.

00:24:05 - 00:24:10 | Speaker 4:

I do like that. Have you ever talked through your ring cameras and stuff like that? Do you ever do that? All the time.

00:24:10 - 00:24:19 | Speaker 2:

So I still pay for the ring at my brother's house, and he'll come home, and I'll be like, hi, and I'll stare the hell out of him. He's like, stop spying on me.

00:24:22 - 00:24:26 | Speaker 4:

I'm surprised he hasn't changed that. He doesn't know how.

00:24:26 - 00:24:28 | Speaker 2:

He's practically a boomer.

00:24:28 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 4:

That's, like, intrusive. It is.

00:24:31 - 00:24:31 | Speaker 2:

I love it.

00:24:32 - 00:24:33 | Speaker 4:

Leslie, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:24:34 - 00:24:44 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Yeah, my husband will text me from the bedroom saying, come get me, when he wants to bake cookies. Come get me. Then I could literally be 10 feet away in the kitchen.

00:24:46 - 00:24:58 | Speaker 4:

Come and get me. That's kind of his way. Is that his thing, or does he use any of those GIFs or whatever? It's either that.

00:24:58 - 00:24:59 | Speaker 2:

He doesn't text me.

00:25:00 - 00:25:04 | Speaker 6:

anything else that's that's pretty much what he'll text me either that or he'll just show up

00:25:04 - 00:25:13 | Speaker 3:

next to me naked and look at me that's effort though that's good that he put the effort in to go do that yeah he took his clothes off and he walked into the room to go sit next to you

00:25:13 - 00:25:30 | Speaker 6:

um it works for them vicky what's up hi um calling about the uh texting thing my husband will come to wherever my daughter and i are to ask us something so he actually instead of texting us We will text him.

00:25:30 - 00:25:37 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. And he'll physically get up to go to you. You guys are too lazy to walk to him, but he's not for you.

00:25:37 - 00:25:55 | Speaker 6:

Correct. Well, because they don't want me to yell because I, like, have a tendency to, like, be really loud if I do that. So they're like, can you just text? Okay. So. But he will get up and he will go. We're in a quad level, so he will go up the two or three flights of stairs to, like, my daughter's room or to whatever area of the house I'm in, up or down.

00:25:56 - 00:26:10 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that amazing, though? Like, this is the communication that we have nowadays. And we're amazed that kids can't even talk to each other, you know, verbally, that they can only talk over devices. But we do the same thing in our own homes.

00:26:10 - 00:26:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

00:26:11 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 3:

We become such creatures of the technology that we have. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it. It's funny. I'm thinking about this. We text each other during the show while the show is going on. mm-hmm like we said they're like Shannon just told me what she wants for her dirt or a dirty report coming up here and and just a little thank God we could

00:26:32 - 00:26:43 | Speaker 2:

do that like could you imagine me being like I need Tampa Bay coach any the friends theme my song we used to do that you used to write it on a whiteboard I know and then people could see what I was writing in videos and it was just

00:26:43 - 00:26:48 | Speaker 3:

we were like what that what's Shannon doing is she sending messages to each

00:26:48 - 00:27:03 | Speaker 1:

00:32:17 - 00:32:35 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the mornings. Five is 6.55. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning Live.

00:32:51 - 00:34:56 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning Show. phone number 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is the telephone number to get through to us so i was talking to a friend and he's been dating he started dating this one girl they're just going on like two dates or whatever and she said something interesting that i actually want to bring up as a topic and i want you to be honest you gotta be honest on this one this friend was telling me that he was on his second date with this girl and she started talking to him about what her friends were saying about him off of their date and he said to her he goes well how would they know yeah they weren't on the date were you just telling them what was going on and she said no i was playing them some of the audio i actually taped our date because i wanted to see how I was on the date and I wanted my friends to be able to hear it he felt so violated uh I would too yeah crazy she secretly taped the date to play for her friend she says and she says that she was playing it for the friends and the friend said said this is the greatest one the friend said that they felt like he was overly interested in her and he was first off he was like okay wait hold on let's hold the fact that you're like secretly taping me and I feel like i'm getting you know like bugged or whatever what the hell are they talking about and i guess he was like really nice and he was asking her a lot of questions and they said that he was like way into her and then he was like no i was just trying to be a nice person but now let's go back to the fact that you're taping me and this is crazy talk here that is crazy behavior yeah um and it's funny but it is funny that you say that that it is crazy behavior because i was having a conversation weeks and weeks ago, God, more than two months ago, with Tony Travato. Do you guys know who Tony Travato is? I've heard of him. Have our listeners heard of him? The guy here? You talk to the PD.

00:34:57 - 00:34:57 | Unknown:

You're program director.

00:34:58 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 2:

Tony Travato, our program director.

00:35:00 - 00:35:05 | Speaker 1:

character and tony travato says that he never goes into a conversation with anyone without

00:35:05 - 00:35:16 | Speaker 3:

thinking that they're taping him yeah well i get it i get it from his perspective of why he thinks that because a lot of what he's talking about is business and you don't want your words misconstrued

00:35:16 - 00:35:49 | Speaker 1:

so i you know he always says he goes you always got to understand that people are probably taping you so you got to understand that anything you say is being taped yeah and i'm like oh because they always used to say don't put anything in writing you don't want others to see because you can do it but i would love to know are there any attorneys listening is top dog listening to us right now is the top dog although i don't know he does just personal injury i think i want to know if there are any attorneys or something listening can you tape somebody without them knowing about it like can you on a can you go on a date and have the date tape you see i feel like

00:35:49 - 00:36:10 | Speaker 2:

the only i'm gonna say the only instance the first instance that pops into my mind where i feel like it's acceptable is if I go on a job interview and I want to see how I was in the interview so that possibly I can learn from that and the next time I could be better like I feel like that's an acceptable use of recording I think there are a lot of acceptable uses I just think

00:36:10 - 00:36:26 | Speaker 1:

a date is a wild one yeah it is I've gotten in fights with Chelsea where I said to her when we're in the middle fight hold on I want to tape this and she's like what and I said I want to tape this because it always comes back that i said this oh my god let me tell you i think west

00:36:26 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 3:

i think west has probably taped one of our arguments he has a thing on his phone it's called applaud yeah i don't know if you've never heard of this um and he uses it for work i could guarantee i'm gonna ask him actually it not only records it but then it also sends you a complete transcript so it is in writing that's smart though i i said that to chelsea and she goes

00:36:49 - 00:37:05 | Speaker 1:

We'll go back and listen to it. I went back and listened to one of our arguments that we had with each other. Everything she was saying was true. I was not hearing exactly what she was saying until I heard it on tape. But that's interesting that you talk about the thing on the phone. Have you guys been on the phone with anybody that has pushed that button that's now on the new iPhone app?

00:37:05 - 00:37:07 | Speaker 3:

It tells you. It tells you you're being recorded.

00:37:07 - 00:37:15 | Speaker 1:

I was on the phone with somebody and it went up and it said, your phone call is being recorded. And the person claimed that they just pushed it with their cheek.

00:37:15 - 00:37:17 | Speaker 2:

Is that possible? Hold on. Let me see.

00:37:17 - 00:37:22 | Speaker 3:

It is possible. Well, it's in the very upper left-hand corner, though, so you'd have to be really pushing your T-card.

00:37:22 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 1:

I didn't mean to do that. Hold on one second here. Jennifer, you're an attorney, is that right?

00:37:28 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 5:

I am, yeah. So Michigan law states that it's one-party consent.

00:37:34 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 1:

So as long as that person that recorded is okay with it.

00:37:37 - 00:37:56 | Speaker 5:

Correct. So she couldn't record her phone and then leave the room and record what everybody else is doing, but as long as the person who's recording is still there can do it. Now, it is different federally, which I know you guys run into with your, probably the radio, you know, putting things on the radio and things like that. But in Michigan, it's a one-party consent.

00:37:57 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 1:

One-party consent. What do you think about this girl taping my friend on their first date?

00:38:03 - 00:38:03 | Speaker 5:

Psycho.

00:38:04 - 00:38:05 | Speaker 1:

It's nuts.

00:38:05 - 00:38:13 | Speaker 5:

Would not go that route. I mean, I know if she's claiming it's to see how she acts. Okay. But, yeah, I just think that's a little weird. Yeah.

00:38:13 - 00:38:18 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. It's crazy. Well, thank you, attorney. No problem. How much do I? Wait, how much do you charge by the hour?

00:38:19 - 00:38:26 | Speaker 5:

Well, first meeting's free, so you're okay. Free consultation. Just so you know, I just want you to know this.

00:38:26 - 00:38:32 | Speaker 1:

If my wife should ever try to hire you to do our divorce, you can't because you talked to me already. We already took a meeting. I agree.

00:38:33 - 00:38:36 | Speaker 5:

And I love you guys. I listen to you every morning. I love you too.

00:38:37 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know how to turn this on. Do you want to hear what it sounds like when you do this? Okay. Yeah.

00:38:44 - 00:38:45 | Unknown:

This call will be recorded.

00:38:46 - 00:39:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. It's funny. Mine is a guy, but yeah. I had to practice because I was actually going to record somebody, and I wanted to know if it was going to tell them that they were going to record it. And I was like, dang it, it does. But then it, like, opens up a note section, keeps the audio, and you can take notes.

00:39:02 - 00:39:05 | Speaker 1:

That's so interesting. Carson, what's up?

00:39:06 - 00:39:29 | Speaker 4:

Hey. So, um, that's what I want to say. First time, long time. Hey. Carson, you're my foe. All right. I am not an attorney by any means, but I did get suspended from school for secretly recording a principal when he was talking to me about something I did. I don't even remember what I did, but, yeah, he suspended me for two days for that.

00:39:29 - 00:39:30 | Speaker 3:

Why? You can't do that.

00:39:32 - 00:39:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I know.

00:39:33 - 00:39:34 | Speaker 3:

No, I'm saying what you did.

00:39:35 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, not if it's a private school. If it's a private school, they could have. What kind of school was it?

00:39:40 - 00:39:43 | Speaker 4:

It's not a private school, and shout out Pinckney High School.

00:39:43 - 00:39:51 | Speaker 3:

i don't think that was legit that they suspended you yeah he told he actually i just heard

00:39:51 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 4:

jennifer on the phone she says one party he told me it was a two-party state and that he

00:39:55 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

could press charges yeah i know you should sue his ass nope nope where are you

00:40:00 - 00:40:07 | Speaker 4:

That's interesting, to tell Pinckney High School. That's wild. What did you find by taping him? Did he say anything to you?

00:40:08 - 00:40:28 | Speaker 6:

It was probably about something I did. It was probably something stupid I did, but I just wanted to show my friends. So I had, like, this, I just had, like, the memo going in my pocket, and then I stopped at the end of the meeting. And then one of my teachers overheard me show it to one of my friends, and, yeah, she ratted me out, and I got suspended.

00:40:28 - 00:40:40 | Speaker 4:

Oh, wow. After the fact. Ann, what's going on? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi, how are you? Hey, we're doing okay. We're talking about secretly recording somebody. You did this?

00:40:40 - 00:41:14 | Speaker 1:

Yes. Well, my ex-husband, it's been 15 years or so, but we used to get in pretty bad fights. And there was somewhere I thought, you know, he was the reason for the fight. So I would record him and I would have him listen to it. and he would agree and he would get through to him but it didn't work it worked for a while but then it went downhill from there but i have i also tapped his phone and found out he was cheating when we were trying to make our second child oh and wait was he can you do that i don't

00:41:14 - 00:41:22 | Speaker 4:

know but i did wait shannon brings shannon asked the question uh was he cheating he was he was

00:41:22 - 00:41:57 | Speaker 1:

he was cheating with even we ended up um getting divorced obviously and who did you hear him cheating with um it was he i found a two-page letter in his backpack that he used to bring to work and it was from a girl that um he had gone to high school with and um yeah i found that and i like call he was at walmart or something i called i'm like i found a nice note in your backpack he's like oh and it's funny i mean this was a long time ago now i'm remarried doing a

00:41:57 - 00:42:06 | Speaker 4:

great guy but um by the way if that guy is listening just know she's taping you hide the letters that evil laugh there

00:42:06 - 00:42:24 | Speaker 3:

oh that's hilarious we love you take care of yourself uh d we're voice disguising you d what's

00:42:24 - 00:42:42 | Speaker 2:

going on hi am i voice you are voices guys and i am taping you go ahead okay perfect First of all, I just want to say, first time in a long time. Yes. D's on the phone. My whole life. So, yeah. Not trying to age you guys, but anyways.

00:42:43 - 00:42:48 | Speaker 4:

You're only aging one person because this is the only person that these guys like to look at as old. Go ahead.

00:42:49 - 00:43:23 | Speaker 2:

No, yeah. But I do this all the time and everything. Like, I usually do it at work so I can, like, figure out if I'm, like, being professional and everything. but i actually um got a dash cam the other day too and i realized that you can have sound on it so if i'm doing like um phone calls in the car on speaker oh that's actually good yeah no yeah like it comes in handy if like i was like getting in a fight with my boyfriend i'm like okay let me like actually see but i wouldn't like tell him i was doing that but i'm like you definitely said

00:43:23 - 00:43:30 | Speaker 4:

wow that's i never thought about that like the dash cams like how you know youtube or uber

00:43:30 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 5:

drivers have and stuff but i feel like you have to wait until like the absolute perfect occasion to then show him the dash cam to prove your point right because once you do it once you're done this makes me so nervous to then like date because like say you're dating a guy who has a dash cam and we've talked in the car about stuff and we break up you have all those files yeah uh lydia

00:43:50 - 00:43:52 | Speaker 4:

should I grab this last one or am I done? What do you think?

00:43:52 - 00:43:55 | Speaker 5:

I kind of want you to read the description first because I want you to pick it up at your own discretion.

00:43:56 - 00:43:56 | Unknown:

Okay.

00:43:57 - 00:44:01 | Speaker 5:

I love that. That was so noncommittal. That was it. You do. You blame me.

00:44:02 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 4:

I can only I only can read if I sound it out loud.

00:44:05 - 00:44:05 | Speaker 6:

Like my mom.

00:44:05 - 00:44:13 | Speaker 4:

I recorded a meeting with a principal after my son was forced to clean up pee of another student. What?

00:44:13 - 00:44:18 | Speaker 5:

Oh, this is a news story. She was in the news. This is a news story. This just happened. What?

00:44:18 - 00:44:19 | Speaker 4:

Caitlin, that's you?

00:44:20 - 00:44:21 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's me. Hi.

00:44:22 - 00:44:22 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

00:44:22 - 00:44:28 | Speaker 5:

Wait, what in the heck? I have not heard this story. Oh, I saw it, and I was livid for you.

00:44:30 - 00:44:35 | Speaker 4:

So what's going on with that case or that particular situation?

00:44:36 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 3:

Okay, so my son, he's in third grade, and his principal was substituting for his teacher last week, and she made him clean up another child's urine off the classroom bathroom floor.

00:44:50 - 00:44:50 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

00:44:50 - 00:44:55 | Speaker 3:

And humiliated him in front of the whole class. And I took it to the news and everything.

00:44:56 - 00:44:58 | Speaker 4:

I saw that, yeah. Utica Schools, huh?

00:44:59 - 00:45:00 | Speaker 3:

Yep, yep.

00:45:00 - 00:45:31 | Speaker 2:

And the principal and her family and friends and stuff were all over the Facebook threatening to sue me for defamation. And I talked to an attorney, and I learned that Michigan is a one-party state. So I had a meeting on Monday with the executive administrators and the principal for basically her insincere apology to my son. And I recorded the whole meeting so that she's unable to sue me for defamation because, no, not happening.

00:45:31 - 00:45:34 | Speaker 1:

So why your son? Why did she choose him?

00:45:34 - 00:45:37 | Speaker 2:

Because he was the last one in the bathroom.

00:45:38 - 00:45:45 | Speaker 1:

So what is going to happen with this principal? Will the school district, have they said what they're going to do?

00:45:46 - 00:45:54 | Speaker 2:

They're not really allowed to tell me that, but I will say that she's already back to work. I guess her apology was enough.

00:45:54 - 00:45:57 | Speaker 3:

That is insane to me.

00:45:58 - 00:45:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm moving my kids' schools.

00:46:00 - 00:46:03 | Speaker 1:

What are you hoping that ends up happening?

00:46:04 - 00:46:13 | Speaker 2:

Well, I would have liked her to at least get a lengthy, no-pay suspension, at the very least. She's the one running the building. She should have been fired.

00:46:14 - 00:46:25 | Speaker 1:

Interesting that she said that your son was the one, because he was the last one in there, not realizing that no kid or no human, no guy gets it in the toilet. You know what I mean? Like, that could have happened any time.

00:46:26 - 00:46:40 | Speaker 2:

Well, the thing is, is the child that used the bathroom before my son is autistic. Okay. And my son, his name is Reese, he noticed that when that little boy went to the bathroom that that's when the urine was on the floor, but he didn't want to embarrass that little boy.

00:46:40 - 00:46:41 | Speaker 1:

Wow.

00:46:41 - 00:46:46 | Speaker 2:

So I left those details out of all the news because I'm like, that's totally irrelevant. It doesn't even matter.

00:46:46 - 00:46:49 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, and you didn't want to bring up another person's business, I guess, right?

00:46:49 - 00:46:58 | Speaker 2:

No, that's not even the point. But I know it wasn't my son's urine on the floor, and she literally gave him a piece of paper towel, like one small piece of paper towel, to clean it up.

00:46:59 - 00:47:06 | Speaker 1:

Well, and no offense, you know, but you've got little kids and stuff like that. You've got janitorial services. They'll come and pick.

00:47:06 - 00:47:11 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, she told me it wasn't their custodian's job to come clean the bathroom every time. That's all the time to leave the job.

00:47:11 - 00:47:12 | Speaker 3:

That's their job.

00:47:13 - 00:47:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. That is their job.

00:47:14 - 00:47:26 | Speaker 2:

That's why I recorded the whole meeting, because this definitely happened. You already admitted to it. Like, no, I got you on recording, so don't try to play me, lady. You're on a power trip, is what it is.

00:47:26 - 00:47:33 | Speaker 1:

Right. I guess the part that I'm the most confused with and upset with is that this is the leader of the school.

00:47:33 - 00:47:34 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:47:34 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 1:

And not that that would give any teacher justification for doing this, but this is the person that's leading the entire school, and this is how they're, you know, holding and dealing with situations, I would just say to that school district, maybe you guys might want to have a conversation about this, you know, and let's...

00:47:54 - 00:48:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, they did say that they are, like, moving forward, they are going to be clarifying that that's not acceptable and everyone needs to be following the district's protocols and stuff because it's not something that's okay with the district.

00:48:08 - 00:48:16 | Speaker 1:

Here's a question for you. if this principal would have sincerely just said i am so sorry i was stressed out that day it was a

00:48:16 - 00:48:42 | Speaker 2:

bad day what would you do i absolutely would have been like okay i understand i that's what i told her in the meeting i have it on recording if you would have said anything anything just an acknowledgement yeah yeah just anything at all differently than um it's the classroom policy and i stand behind it and how rude she was to me about it and like the fact that she was like not if she would have said anything different i would have been like okay well yeah we can't i

00:48:42 - 00:48:51 | Speaker 1:

we can't do that it's a shame but it's a shame that your son has to move schools i i almost feel like that that's not fair to your son but i get why you're doing that

00:48:51 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 2:

out of protection for him it's at his request he wants to my son is actually considered special needs he's on a 504 at school and he takes daily medication he has a learning disability um and so Well, the principal knows all that, too. So, like, why would you do that to him?

00:49:07 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 1:

Okay. All right. Well, listen, I don't know the full story other than I did see it on the news, and I will be following it to see what ends up happening. Thank you for the call.

00:49:17 - 00:49:17 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:49:18 - 00:49:18 | Unknown:

Yeah.

00:49:18 - 00:49:25 | Speaker 1:

All right. Take care of yourself. We know we have the right to remain silent. We just suck at it.

00:49:25 - 00:49:27 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the morning. Channel 955.

00:49:28 - 00:49:28 | Unknown:

Right now.

00:49:29 - 00:49:31 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the morning is dirty on the 30.

00:49:31 - 00:51:53 | Speaker 3:

Right now, right now. I was about to get dirty, second dirty of the day. Let's go, Megan. Have you seen that a bunch of Teslas have been targeted recently for vandalism? Well, the FBI is launching a national task force to investigate arsons and vandalism targeting those Tesla vehicles, the dealerships, and even the charging stations that are happening all across the country. Now, these officials are treating the coordinated attacks as domestic terrorists. So if people get caught for this, go and get some big charges. Protests and more attacks are feared ahead of a planned March 29th demonstration. So if you've been seeing that all over your For You page, you're probably going to see a bit more. Okay, you know what? First, we're going to start with some Taylor Swift here. So Jamie King, who's an actress and a model best known for being in that TV series, The Heart of Dixie. Well, she and Taylor Swift are not as tight as they once were, even though Swift is still godmother to King's son, Leo. Now, a source is telling me that Taylor has always taken her godmother role duties very, very seriously, but their relationship just is a lot different now. There's no regular contact, and the source is also saying that there is still love between the former friends, and that the Fortnite singer still sends gifts to Leo on special occasions. But Jamie King has been really in a rough patch recently and trying to navigate that. This includes a divorce from her ex-husband, Kyle Newman, and a custody battle over their two kids, Leo and James Newman. And it seems like every time Dealey Swift has a friend who's going through some public ridicule, she seems to take a back seat. So I'm not super surprised by this information, but it seems like she does kind of distance herself. herself i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing probably a good thing for her reputation bad thing as a friend okay speaking of taylor swift retired nfl stars julian edelman and rob gronkowski say that taylor swift and travis kelsey need to be having some kids now i love these two idiots more than anything i love when they podcast especially when they podcast together But here's what they had to say about the future child of the two superstars.

00:51:53 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 1:

He's a superstar. You're a super superstar. He's dating Taylor and Swift, and they might have a kid. They should have a kid. They should. That would be a great kid.

00:52:03 - 00:52:46 | Speaker 2:

It would be a, what would, what could be performing? Like, you know, having eight catches a game, and then, like, halftime, he's doing the halftime show? In, like, 15, no, in, like, 24 years? Probably sooner. Yeah. Taylor was on the scene when she was, like, 13. All right, so it would be like the new Ryan Williams. You know how he's 17 years old at Alabama? So their kid would be like 14 in college. They'd just surpass, like, middle school because he's so smart. And then he would go, like, do a duet with, like, he would go do something with Quavo right after. Yeah, so, and then he'll be in the league at 18 and then singing and performing at halftime. Top 10 hits and a TikTok song. Dang, they need to have a kid if that's the case. They got him. They got him.

00:52:46 - 00:54:59 | Speaker 3:

Why do I feel like at the end of every one of their sentences they should be saying, dude, bro, no way, man, hey? I live for them. What is the weed that they are smoking? Exactly, exactly. Fred Durst and members of Limp Bizkit are suing Universal Music Group over alleged unpaid royalties. Now, the band is claiming that they're owed over $200 million in royalties and other profits, also citing $3 billion in streams earned in the past two years. Limp Bizkit also claims that the record deal was signed in the 1990s. It originally involved a 50-50 split agreement, although the band never received equal profits. Now, the judge in this case, Judge Percy Anderson, ruled in a decision filed on March 17th that the Limp Bizkit frontman would have to refile most of his claims in either New York or California and denied UMG's attempt to dismiss the copyright infringement claims. I'm going to keep you updated on any changes in this case as they unfold. I feel like if it's a $200 million loan, we're going to get some more details on this. All right. And finally, in the most BS story of the morning that I believe to be, quite frankly, the biggest dirty story that is happening today, starting March 25th, aka today, Dollar Tree is going to be raising their prices again. What? I know. Could they be any higher? You know what? they raised it from this is a dollar tree we're talking about a dollar to a dollar 25 and we as the american people we said i understand but let me tell you going from a dollar 70 or a dollar 25 to a dollar 75 starting today on select items i think we should write where do we draw the line i don't at the dollar tree a dollar that's where the line should have been drawn something has to be done you should have picked a different name i'm looking at you dollar general i'm looking at you dollar tree i'm looking at you what's another store with dollar in it would you family dollar family dollar would you be mad if they renamed it to like two dollar tree oh my god now okay all right hear me out double tree the hotel buys dollar tree

Lisa thinks that her husband is cheating on her. Why is that, Lisa?

00:55:36 - 00:55:47 | Speaker 6:

Because he always threatens to cheat on me. He threatens to cheat on you? Like, every time I wear something that's a little bit fun or I go out with my friends, he just threatens that he's going to cheat on me.

00:55:47 - 00:55:52 | Speaker 3:

Why is it that he's been doing this for a while and now all of a sudden you think he's actually cheating?

00:55:52 - 00:55:59 | Speaker 6:

Because lately he's just been really distant and he'll, like, come home really late or he just, you know, won't even call. when he's coming home late.

00:55:59 - 00:56:03 | Speaker 5:

Does he threaten to cheat with a specific person or is he just general about it?

00:56:03 - 00:56:05 | Speaker 6:

Just general about it.

00:56:06 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 3:

Do you think he has a specific person in his life?

00:56:09 - 00:56:12 | Speaker 6:

I don't know. It could be this girl from work, but, you know.

00:56:12 - 00:56:14 | Speaker 5:

Does he talk about her or you just think that?

00:56:15 - 00:56:20 | Speaker 6:

You know, I've met her a couple times and she just seems a little flirty. Okay.

00:56:20 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 3:

All right, we're going to call him up to see where he's going to send a dozen free roses. This is Lisa. We're calling her husband up, Ryan.

00:56:28 - 00:56:52 | Speaker 5:

hello i'm looking for ryan yeah hi ryan my name is nicole i'm calling from a new internet flow company called roses bloom.com with a free flower offer do you have like 15 20 seconds i can talk

00:56:52 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 8:

to you really fast? Yeah, I guess. What's going on? I don't want to buy anything. Nope. I just

00:56:59 - 00:57:09 | Speaker 5:

need you to answer two quick survey questions for me, and then rosesbloom.com is going to give you a free dozen long-stemmed red roses that you can send to anyone, anywhere, and it's not going to

00:57:09 - 00:57:16 | Speaker 8:

cost you anything. Can you answer two quick questions for me? I don't want to send roses

00:57:16 - 00:57:23 | Speaker 5:

to anyone, so... Well, you can send any kind of flowers that you want. Roses is just our standard to offer that we offer to our new customers.

00:57:24 - 00:57:27 | Speaker 8:

Well, yeah, but I don't want to send flowers to anyone anyway, so.

00:57:28 - 00:57:31 | Speaker 5:

You don't have a wife or a girlfriend that maybe you'd want to send some flowers to?

00:57:34 - 00:57:36 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, she's a fat f***ing pig, so.

00:57:37 - 00:57:38 | Speaker 5:

I'm sorry?

00:57:39 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 8:

She's a fat f***ing pig. I don't want to send her f***ing s*** up.

00:57:44 - 00:58:01 | Speaker 5:

Well, that's not very nice that you're saying that. Are you talking about a wife or a girlfriend? Okay, well, I can, I can, I'm giving you an offer to send her a free bouquet of flowers.

00:58:03 - 00:58:07 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I know. I don't want to, so whatever. I don't care. Take me off the list.

00:58:08 - 00:58:11 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm surprised any woman would want to be with you if you talk about her like that.

00:58:13 - 00:58:19 | Speaker 8:

Well, a lot of women would be with me. I don't know why I got to answer some telemarketing telling me no girl wants to be with me.

00:58:19 - 00:58:22 | Speaker 5:

Okay, now you're being rude to me as well.

00:58:23 - 00:58:24 | Speaker 8:

Don't call me, you f***ing whore.

00:58:26 - 00:58:31 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to jump on the call because I don't appreciate the way that you're talking to one of our employees here.

00:58:31 - 00:58:32 | Unknown:

I don't give a s***.

00:58:34 - 00:58:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, I do, and I also think that it's not nice that you're saying comments like that about your wife, especially when she's listening to you right now, because this is the mojo in the morning show, War of the Roses. and you're a piece of s**t.

00:58:54 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 5:

How can you talk about your wife that way?

00:58:57 - 00:59:04 | Speaker 8:

Oh, you don't even know my wife. Okay, first of all, so how are you going to act like I don't know what I'm talking about? You don't even f**king know her.

00:59:04 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

We do know her because she's on the phone with us right now. Lisa, why would you be with that guy like that?

00:59:16 - 00:59:22 | Speaker 5:

Does he talk to you like that all the time? No, it's just when he's angry.

00:59:23 - 00:59:24 | Speaker 3:

Lisa, you deserve better than that.

00:59:26 - 00:59:36 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I mean, that scares me. If he's that rude to me and that rude just talking about you, like, I can't even imagine the things that he says in front of you.

00:59:38 - 00:59:40 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he's not very nice when he's angry.

00:59:41 - 00:59:43 | Speaker 2:

You guys have kids?

00:59:44 - 00:59:44 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:59:45 - 00:59:55 | Speaker 2:

get the hell out of this situation yes yeah it's just really hard i mean he's he's always

00:59:55 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 6:

you know he's i mean when he's not angry he's great you know and just when he gets angry

01:00:00 - 01:00:03 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning, never have we had a War of the Roses where people were saying that they're so angry they wanted to physically hurt someone. And this someone is the husband in this case, is someone is Ryan in this case. It's Mojo in the Morning Show, War of the Roses. Marlene, comment from you. What's happening?

01:01:17 - 01:01:30 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. I have a couple things to say. First off, I've only placed hands on a handful of men in my lifetime. I'm ready for this man to be starting on my other hand.

01:01:31 - 01:01:32 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:01:33 - 01:02:01 | Speaker 5:

So he's got my blood boiling. And baby girl, you are beautiful no matter what size you are. I help a dear friend of mine run a community for big girls, and you will be appreciated. You look me up on Facebook, Marlene K. I do security for the group. i love that and i will get you where you need to be where you need to be appreciated and love for who you are my ex-husband used to try to do that talking about you're gonna miss

01:02:01 - 01:02:13 | Speaker 2:

me when i'm gone or what bye yeah what is it what is the mindset i guess just so i fully understand what is the mindset to stay like why stay why not go as soon as you hear that when you're a bigger

01:02:13 - 01:02:28 | Speaker 5:

girl and you're with somebody if you try to lose weight they're like oh you're just trying to lose way because you want to leave me and they make you feel like nobody else will want you and they break your mental state down to the point where you feel like you're not good enough for anybody

01:02:28 - 01:03:02 | Speaker 1:

else we also don't know the financial control that he might be extending yeah guys are really notorious for when they know a girl is leaving in their abusive situations for love bombing or getting their families involved to say you know it was just a mistake it was just one time you don't know if they've got kids together um that was one of the most shocking things i learned when starting to work with a women's shelter is the recidivism the risk i can do this it's a big word i got a recidivism rate for women to go um back to the situation yeah i uh marlene i appreciate

01:03:02 - 01:03:19 | Speaker 3:

you i know that we've talked before and i love that you uh continue to give good comments and good thoughts to to those that need them and uh my name is marlene k on facebook i'm serious okay well look we're looking around and follow her uh dina what's going on it's mojo in the

01:03:19 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 6:

morning hi hey mojo hey um i just i just wanted to say that first of all he is very verbally abusive and not physically and it will definitely get physical before she can before she can get out if she does not get out now my ex is in prison and it started off verbal just like that oh, you're fat, you're this, you're that, and the other. Eventually, he literally tried to take my life. So as far as saying, I do agree with Marlene, but also it's really a mental thing. And as a woman that's been in a domestic violence situation, they break you down. They make you feel like nobody else will want you, which is that's what he's doing right now to this woman. But you have to be stronger than that. And when his words stopped hurting me was when he started using his hands. Because I was like, you're not going to talk to me like this. I don't care. Somebody's going to love me. Yeah. And I do hope to get out of that situation.

01:04:17 - 01:04:29 | Speaker 4:

Great for you. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get out of the situation? Did you get out before you went to prison or after? No. So I was a whole... Oh, gosh.

01:04:29 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 3:

You were what? Say it. Maybe he should come back there. You were what?

01:04:35 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 6:

I just lost you. How did you get out of the situation say one more time okay and when he got out I went and drove to go pick him up after a year and within 24 hours he was already

01:05:00 - 01:05:12 | Speaker 2:

putting his hands on me he had held me hostage at my apartment and wouldn't let me out um and i had to call melvendale police to come and get him it was a whole saga um but he's in jail

01:05:12 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 1:

for 15 years right now so well that's where he belongs yeah absolutely thank you thank you for calling i appreciate it uh skip let's skip let me skip a couple calls here and i'll come back to them but let me go to becca because becca you there becca seven hey becca becca the other thing that he would do is he would play mind games this guy and i'll tell you what happened when we called him back just uh after we did this call but um you had a guy that would do that you you had a guy that would do the whole threatening to leave you or cheat on

01:05:51 - 01:06:11 | Speaker 3:

you yep anytime i was insecure or would question the shady things he would do um he would say okay well if you think i'm doing it then i'm just gonna go ahead and do it so she needs to she did you ever find out if he did it did he did he ever do it um i have some strong suspicions that

01:06:11 - 01:07:00 | Speaker 1:

he did it and what i wonder what the reasoning is when they do this like i always i believe this the reason why i thought this was one that we definitely should have made a call to um i think the guy's already cheating i think he's already got somebody else and i think when she needs to get out of that relationship and when in it's kind of like the guys who who project upon you that you're the cheater oh you're cheating on me i know you're cheating on me i think those guys are also probably with somebody else yeah um thank you for the call go back to uh nathan let's get a guy's perspective on this one nathan what's going on how you doing good how are you guys good you're hearing this stuff man doesn't it make you just sad for for men it makes me sick

01:07:00 - 01:07:42 | Speaker 4:

to my stomach i work in health care i've called in the past this is the first sign of abuse you need to get out i cannot stress to you on a woman i see where their husbands take control it starts off when they start to withdraw then they get verbally abusive and next thing it starts with the physical she needs to get out as fast as she can um if you're worried about the financial side or the housing side you can always come get my contact you can always come live with me and my wife we're more than willing to take you under our roof that you need to get out of that relationship as fast as you can he is a piece of you know i can't say it on the radio but that is i i can never imagine talking to my wife let alone any female in that manner

01:07:42 - 01:08:18 | Speaker 1:

we uh uh by the way set lisa up with uh an organization that uh she is right now talking to uh and we're hoping that that we'll get some people on from that organization to to give us more details on what to do in a situation like this but we wanted to make sure that she was okay first uh terrence uh what did you think about this terrence listening to the war of the roses and if you missed it it's up you can listen to the podcast of it the uh the possible cheater uh they got very verbally abusive with shannon what's going on yeah i was just saying to the

01:08:18 - 01:08:27 | Speaker 5:

lady that was very way out of line man thank you all right yeah he don't deserve to be married

01:08:28 - 01:08:37 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. No, you know what's funny is that his verbal abuse is worse than if he's cheating on her.

01:08:37 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh, absolutely. I was just about to ask that. I said, is that worse than being cheated on?

01:08:42 - 01:08:47 | Speaker 1:

I would say so. I mean, who wants to put up with that?

01:08:48 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 5:

I'm saying, man, I can't find love to first. You know, and this guy's talking to this woman like that. They didn't even start talking to your coworker like that. Man, come on now. You need to crawl in a hole somewhere and live like a mole.

01:09:01 - 01:09:01 | Unknown:

Nope.

01:09:02 - 01:09:04 | Speaker 1:

I've never heard that, but I lick. That's Kool-Aid Man.

01:09:04 - 01:09:05 | Speaker 3:

It's Kool-Aid Man.

01:09:07 - 01:09:07 | Speaker 1:

By the way.

01:09:07 - 01:09:08 | Speaker 3:

I lick that.

01:09:08 - 01:09:14 | Speaker 1:

By the way, I can't believe you don't have a lady in your life. You sound like you got away with words.

01:09:15 - 01:09:24 | Speaker 5:

Well, you know, I'm just, I'm trying to reestablish myself before I even find love again, man. You know, I'm just one of those things.

01:09:25 - 01:09:59 | Speaker 1:

All right. Well, thank you for going on with us. We appreciate you, buddy. All right. Hold on one second. So after the call was made, which, by the way, Shannon, after the call was made, it was like you just got done doing like five hours on a treadmill. You were so worked up on that one. We called him back to try to see if we could, you know, get a calm down version of him. He doesn't calm down. Let's just put it that way. and that audio, we were told, could not be played.

01:10:00 - 01:10:42 | Speaker 4:

So we will have more on this War of the Roses. Stick around. Stay with us. We are going to be doing War of the Roses update shows. That's something new for this year that we really are getting into. And it's by your demand, our listeners, that since we started doing War of the Roses twice a week, this past, you know, in 2023, in 2024, update calls, too. I love that as an idea. I don't know how you guys feel about it. But so many people, they come up to you and they always ask you, what's going on with this couple? And we have some people that want to be updated and those people will make it to the air. And then we got some people that are like, we never want to even be heard from ever again because it was so embarrassing after they heard themselves on the radio.

01:10:43 - 01:10:46 | Speaker 1:

This is the home of War of the Roses. Mojo in the morning.

01:10:51 - 01:11:01 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning. megan got yelled at at the grocery store was it deserved i don't think so i think this lady was

01:11:01 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 3:

crazy megan what's going on okay thank you for saying that because i do feel like this is a mini am i the a-hole and i would like people to please be on my side for once because i emotionally can't handle if you're not gonna be uh i was at the grocery store yesterday did you see that yeah i grocery store i had my phone set up like in the car i love new carts now because they have like cup holders and like a place to put your phone and whoever designed that chef's kiss to you uh but i had my headphones in and i feel like that's a very important part of this story is that i had headphones in and i was on facetime i don't know about you but i am the kind of person where outside of work i am on facetime 90 of my day doesn't even mean that i'm talking to people but like I just need to stay off of my phone and I feel like that's a really great way of doing it and there was a woman in the aisle behind me and she gave me this really dirty look and she said I don't want to be on camera oh lordy and I said well you know you're not and she walked away super quickly like she rammed her cart around to me and walked away oh I want to be on camera Like I said I'm on FaceTime a lot I wasn't filming anything The person I was on FaceTime with Was doing their dishes We weren't even talking to each other She is a complete bitch But is it rude to be on FaceTime in public?

01:12:30 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 4:

I mean FaceTime I feel like if I could I don't like hearing anybody talk When I'm in public So is it the verbal? Was it the verbal or the video though? Because for Megan It wasn't the verbal It was the video Well, you couldn't hear her at all?

01:12:45 - 01:12:46 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't hear her.

01:12:46 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 4:

The lady couldn't hear your conversation.

01:12:47 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

I wasn't talking.

01:12:48 - 01:12:58 | Speaker 4:

She was on her headphones, too, she said. Oh, well, that's okay. The lady's in there. So, Megan, how did she know you were on FaceTime? If it's in your cup holder, how does she know?

01:12:58 - 01:13:10 | Speaker 3:

Because it was propped in a way where I wasn't even behind my cart. Like, you know how sometimes when you're... I was looking for a certain spice I could not find. Creme of tartar is, like, hardly hard to find. What the hell are you making?

01:13:11 - 01:13:14 | Speaker 2:

And if you listened to the More Mojo podcast yesterday, you know she's about to open a bakery.

01:13:14 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 3:

So she's been baking up a storm. But I was like, you put your cart off to the side, and then you kind of like crotch down because you're, I got bad eyesight too, and it's a weird little jar, and I couldn't find it. And they were not in alphabetical order, which is just mean. And I was away from a cart, and she had walked up behind my cart and saw herself on my phone and was like, I don't know.

01:13:36 - 01:13:58 | Speaker 4:

I have thoughts on this one. My thoughts are, if you were throwing that thing around like you were showing everybody, like holding your hand, then I could see her being upset. She had to look in your cart. She was the nosy one looking down at your screen. I don't think you did anything wrong being on FaceTime because you were keeping it very disguised.

01:13:58 - 01:14:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, if you were filming something, that would have been a different story. But I feel like there are certain times, though, when you cannot be on FaceTime. You, I believe, are fine in this situation. I hate people who are on FaceTime when I am at a show and I'm talking like a Disney on Ice or a concert or something. You are, that is so irritating to me. You know what, why? Because people have their iPads, for God's sake. And they're giving the concert to, you know, Aunt Linda in the living room and in her house. And like, that's what I'm staring at the whole time. Also in the gym locker room, which you're not even supposed to be doing that anyway. That's creepy. And I also think it's really rude. I think it's rude to even talk on the phone if you're getting a pedicure. Okay. FaceTime or talking on the phone.

01:14:42 - 01:14:52 | Speaker 3:

I've done that. As somebody who... I know you have. As somebody who was unable to get tickets to the Renaissance tour, I appreciate everybody who livestreams concerts because some of us can't make the show.

01:14:52 - 01:14:57 | Speaker 2:

But when you're sitting right next to her behind that person, it is so annoying.

01:14:57 - 01:14:59 | Speaker 3:

You have to keep it at head level or lower.

01:14:59 - 01:15:09 | Speaker 2:

You cannot... hold it up above your head and film the home time. That's rude, but I agree with you on the other situations. Those are rude situations. I don't feel like the grocery store is a rude place. No, who cares? She's wanted

01:15:09 - 01:15:23 | Speaker 1:

by the law. And stop looking at my cart. That woman, that woman does not want people to know her. Let me find my cream of tartar. Amanda, hello. Hi. Hi, did Megan, is Megan the a-hole for... Absolutely

01:15:23 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 6:

not. Absolutely not. You do you. What gets me is I work at a doctor's office and i'll be trying to call back patients for the doctor's appointment and they're on facetime with someone we're about to discuss very private personal things we can't have you on the phone oh yeah yeah that's hipaa so there's a time and a place yeah in a doctor's office is

01:15:45 - 01:15:50 | Speaker 1:

also another one to add to that list nobody wants to be sitting there in the proctologist's office

01:15:50 - 01:15:55 | Speaker 2:

it's got to be a butt doctor that you're supposed to be on camera or a foot doctor i think people

01:15:55 - 01:16:01 | Speaker 1:

with bad feet nobody wants to know they have bad feet what's up kayla hi hi no i think that lady

01:16:01 - 01:16:13 | Speaker 7:

is completely ridiculous because one it's not like you were recording and two what's the difference if that person had been in the store shopping with you she still would have she or he still would have seen that person it doesn't make a difference thank you i i think it's always funny

01:16:13 - 01:16:29 | Speaker 2:

when people like it's so rude to be on the phone at fill in blank here and i'm like but it's not rude if somebody was standing next to me and we were having a conversation exactly yes yes thank you this never goes my way hell yeah you are not the a-hole on this one here although i'm looking

01:16:29 - 01:16:51 | Speaker 1:

at text messages uh a couple people texting saying that you would be uh the a-hole megan if you were holding the phone yeah we said that uh that's a good one another one here would be you would be an a-hole if you were on your headphones and couldn't hear her trying to get by you that would also be oh maybe that's where it's starting uh joanne what's up hey

01:16:51 - 01:17:16 | Speaker 4:

Hey, good morning, first time, long time. Hey there, Joanne's on the phone. Oh, my God, I've waited to hear Kevin say that my entire life. Your entire life. My entire life. Hey, Megan, you are not the a-hole. There is no presumption of privacy in a public place. Sorry, Miss Lady, but no. You walked in front of the camera. It's all about Megan today. Hello. Hello.

01:17:16 - 01:17:22 | Speaker 1:

Megan needed you there In the store with her

01:17:22 - 01:17:39 | Speaker 4:

I've watched way too many videos I need to stay offline Because no ma'am If you're in a public place Smile and hope I hope you don't come out looking like you're at Walmart Because I might have to post that Everywhere

01:17:39 - 01:17:44 | Speaker 1:

The people of Walmart Site Correct

01:17:44 - 01:17:46 | Speaker 4:

Yes, sir. It's the best.

01:17:46 - 01:17:50 | Speaker 1:

We love you. Thanks for calling. Call more often, please. Addie, what's up?

01:17:51 - 01:18:10 | Speaker 5:

Hi. So we were at a restaurant recently, and there was two girls sitting across from our table. It was extremely distracting when all they did was sit on FaceTime while their friend was at Walmart shopping, and they were talking to them about it. That's all I heard the entire time.

01:18:10 - 01:18:11 | Speaker 4:

Really?

01:18:11 - 01:18:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay, but Addy, what's the difference between that and them just having a conversation?

01:18:18 - 01:18:34 | Speaker 5:

They can have a conversation, but when it's distracting to other people around them, they didn't have earbuds in like Megan did, which is totally okay in my opinion, so you're not the a-hole, but absolutely distracting when it affects people around you and they're trying to enjoy a meal.

01:18:34 - 01:18:39 | Speaker 2:

I want to go to a restaurant that's dead silent just for you. No distractions.

01:18:39 - 01:19:05 | Speaker 1:

It is weird when people sit at a table, and they're on the table watching movies loud, or they're talking on FaceTime loud, and you're at there. I know there's no difference to a volume of people just talking, but it is kind of weird when you hear, like, I sat at a Coney Island at Lulu's, and I saw, or there's a guy who was listening to music on his thing. And he had music just playing in the background. And I was like, okay, this is kind of weird.

01:19:05 - 01:19:16 | Speaker 5:

well when i can see walmart and looking at the shelves at walmart while she's watching the shelves i'm not really interested in seeing walmart when i'm out to eat with my family

01:19:16 - 01:19:21 | Speaker 1:

yeah that's true like if the person's shopping there what's up stuff hey uh megan is not the

01:19:21 - 01:19:27 | Speaker 3:

a-hole these people are already on this woman's on security cameras the whole time she's in the

01:19:27 - 01:19:32 | Speaker 1:

store that's right does she know how many cameras that have probably got her that day you know

01:19:33 - 01:19:33 | Unknown:

Exactly.

01:19:34 - 01:19:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Well, thank you for the call. This is actually pretty reassuring, Megan. Not one person said that you're the a-hole.

01:19:40 - 01:19:49 | Speaker 2:

I feel fueled by what just happened here. It's about to go off the rails because I've never had this many people agree with that.

01:19:49 - 01:19:52 | Speaker 1:

October 30th, 2024, the year of the Lord.

01:19:52 - 01:19:54 | Speaker 2:

Megan, write it down. Oh, you know what that means?

01:19:56 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 1:

Tomorrow's Halloween.

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 2:

Yes! Are we excited for Halloween? Okay, clearly.

01:20:00 - 01:20:01 | Speaker 6:

I'm excited, and nobody else will.

01:20:01 - 01:20:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm with you.

01:20:02 - 01:20:10 | Speaker 1:

I'm with you. No, no, no. Are we dressing up tomorrow? So excited. No. So you're not that excited. Kind of, yes. Come on, wear something. Come on, a little Halloween.

01:20:10 - 01:20:15 | Speaker 4:

No more gas in the red. Can't even get started. Nothing hurt, nothing bad.

01:20:16 - 01:20:21 | Speaker 2:

I think we'll get a lot of trick-or-treaters. I always predict that we will. We get none. Like, I get, like, maybe five.

01:20:22 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 4:

You just bring in that extra candy the next day.

01:20:24 - 01:20:27 | Speaker 2:

Then I become a diabetic with all the candy that I'm going to eat.

01:20:30 - 01:21:03 | Speaker 4:

What kind of candy are we giving away, guys? I'm doing Reese's Pumpkin. Oh, yeah, fancy. And caramel apple suckers, because those are Reese's. Caramel apple suckers. Doing both. One of each.

01:21:03 - 01:21:28 | Speaker 5:

How's your step? Take two, little one. I'm so sad. I hate living in an apartment only on this day of the year. You can come to my house. Tim Murphy's coming over. My sister's coming over. My niece. It's going to be a party. Truly, I might do that because I love it so much. It makes me so sad. And I don't have the extra candy then to indulge on and go, oh, I bought too much. Darn.

01:21:28 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 2:

Well, now you do because you don't have any people. You just have to buy too much.

01:21:32 - 01:21:34 | Speaker 1:

Whatever will I do with the extra tickets?

01:21:35 - 01:21:36 | Speaker 2:

Sharon, what's up, Sharon?

01:21:37 - 01:21:42 | Speaker 6:

Good morning. First time, long time. Hey, Sharon's on the phone.

01:21:42 - 01:21:44 | Speaker 2:

Sharon, what do you think is rude, Sharon?

01:21:45 - 01:22:04 | Speaker 6:

So getting back to the topic earlier, sorry for not calling it sooner, but with regards to the FaceTiming in public, Like, I hate it when people are in public bathrooms and FaceTiming, and it's just, like, super rude and on phones, and it's just like, why are you doing this? It's in the bathroom.

01:22:04 - 01:22:08 | Speaker 1:

I know. You're going to the bathroom. Why do people want—

01:22:08 - 01:22:15 | Speaker 5:

Make a doody. That's weird, especially because we all know how big the gaps are in stall doors. That's weird. Exactly.

01:22:15 - 01:22:21 | Speaker 6:

You know, bathrooms must be a sacred place, you know, for doing your doody, and here we go on the FaceTime, like, hey, how you doing?

01:22:22 - 01:22:23 | Speaker 2:

Sharon, we love you. Thanks for listening.

01:22:24 - 01:22:25 | Speaker 6:

Thanks, guys. Have a good one.

01:22:26 - 01:22:27 | Speaker 2:

Hey, bye. Gabrielle?

01:22:29 - 01:22:31 | Speaker 7:

I do it all, all the time.

01:22:31 - 01:22:32 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what do you do all the time?

01:22:33 - 01:22:52 | Speaker 7:

When I go shopping, I'm on the phone. Okay. Because when I go shopping, I'm trying to catch a vibe. Okay. So if I'm shopping, I might have the music playing, and I have my big headphones. But if I lose them, I'm not going to not catch my vibe because I don't have my headphones. I'm going to play the music. It'll be subtle. But it's going to be played. And if you're distracted, that's your problem, not mine.

01:22:52 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so you're actually the person I was talking about when I was sitting there at the Coney Island, and the person's jamming music in their booth.

01:22:59 - 01:23:14 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Well, but it's not loud. It's subtle for me and my party. But I literally went on a date with my husband the other day. And, yes, I played the boondocks on my phone, very small level. And we were joking because we were catching a vibe.

01:23:14 - 01:23:15 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:23:15 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 7:

And we were watching the boondocks.

01:23:17 - 01:23:17 | Speaker 2:

All right.

01:23:18 - 01:23:18 | Speaker 7:

Girl, you are crazy.

01:23:18 - 01:23:26 | Speaker 2:

I like the people that catch up on their watching, you know, whatever shows or movies while they're walking around a store. Like, how are you able to cast?

01:23:27 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, how are you focused?

01:23:28 - 01:23:28 | Speaker 2:

I don't care.

01:23:28 - 01:23:30 | Speaker 7:

Because it is a vibe.

01:23:30 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 2:

It's a vibe.

01:23:33 - 01:23:40 | Speaker 3:

WKQI Detroit. WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning.

01:23:40 - 01:23:41 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Mojo, he's amazing.

01:23:42 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 3:

Live. Mojo. 30.

01:23:47 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 4:

20.

01:23:47 - 01:24:03 | Speaker 3:

five four three two one ignition sequence start let me take y'all back to the beginning this is it all right are you ready you're listening to mojo in the morning you're a doo-doo hat

01:24:03 - 01:25:00 | Speaker 2:

all right it is the mojo in the morning show chelsea is uh coming home hopefully today she's gotten some issues with uh being down in florida and stuff with all the the weather stuff and i'm excited about that i'm actually excited about it for twofold i i kind of get lonely when i'm home by myself and i also find myself not being very smart about like eating i don't know what the story have you been eating uh lots of pretzels i'm a pretzel nut but all but also i find myself eating anything that i've been trying not to do doordash because i normally would just doordash my ass off. And then next thing I know, I'm like spending like $300 in DoorDash. I have decided that I was going through all the frozen foods that we had in our freezer that haven't been cooked in a while. And anything that was like frozen, I think I've had gluten-free waffles like the last five or six days.

01:25:00 - 01:26:57 | Speaker 1:

in a row um but i uh i'm excited for her to come home for a couple of reasons number one i'm lonely number two i'm hoping that i'm gonna get laid it's at least sometime in this in the near future you know what i mean let's have some fun i don't know if this happens to a lot of people i sound like zach now i got like the mouthful of uh saliva going on here right now hold on I swallow. I'm literally about to throw up. Okay. So I don't know if this happens to you and your relationship, but my relationship with Chelsea has been going on for a very long time. I'm blessed that we are together still. But I also think that sometimes we've lost the romance where we choose other things over sex. And it's not just her, it's me too. And I am not surprised if you call us up and tell me that we're crazy. But I'm also not surprised if you call me up and say, yeah, you have also chosen sister wives and 90-day fiancé over having sex. Is that a bad thing, though? I don't necessarily think so. Honestly, it's very enjoyable sometimes just to sit down in bed and lay down in bed and watch TV. But there are times where we will lay down in bed, and I'm thinking we're going to have sex. We turn the TV on or have the TV rolling in the background. And next thing I know, we're three episodes deep in our DVR, you know, like we're cleaning that damn thing out. And it gets to a point that it turns into us more enjoying that than the, you know, the, I don't know, five minutes of lovemaking that would happen. So I wanted to ask this question. What did you choose over sex? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. You laid in bed. You thought it was going to be a romantic night. And then next thing you know, playoff sports is on. What's up, Marvin? How you doing?

01:26:58 - 01:26:58 | Unknown:

Good.

01:26:59 - 01:27:31 | Speaker 1:

And by the way, this is an interesting stat. I was going to throw this out there just to show you this. Study found that one in three 18 to 34-year-olds report no sexual activity in the last year. year in the last year 18 to 34 year olds have not had sex in the last year and that's because they say they have chosen gaming over sex like kev and what about you marvin yeah i'd rather play fortnight you'd rather have you'd rather have fortnight fun than having fornication fun

01:27:31 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 3:

with your girl huh i mean it just depends on the day you know sometimes you feel it sometimes you

01:27:36 - 01:27:42 | Speaker 1:

don't sometimes you want to hop on the game with the boys yeah that's by the way does she want that

01:27:42 - 01:27:47 | Speaker 3:

same thing too or is she feeling lonely you know she hates the game she wants to get rid of it so

01:27:47 - 01:28:03 | Speaker 1:

the game is actually coming in between you and your your girl yeah sometimes how often are you playing i play every day can you not take a break for a second yeah i mean i can but like it's kind

01:28:03 - 01:28:07 | Speaker 3:

of boring you know life's kind of boring right now it's nothing really to do stay strong marvin

01:28:07 - 01:28:25 | Speaker 1:

no i think you should be single marvin by the way we've talked before about girls doing exactly what cherelle did with you where she's just standing there naked and the guys just completely ignore it justin hi hello hi what have you chosen over sex justin gambling

01:28:26 - 01:28:27 | Speaker 2:

You're kidding.

01:28:27 - 01:28:31 | Speaker 1:

So, like, putting parlays together over P, the other P?

01:28:32 - 01:28:36 | Speaker 2:

Pretty much. Blackjack, free card poker.

01:28:37 - 01:28:41 | Speaker 1:

Do you know that my son Joe has been betting and gambling on table tennis lately?

01:28:42 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 2:

See? Yeah. Where are you watching table tennis?

01:28:45 - 01:28:49 | Speaker 1:

He's doing ping pong betting or whatever, table tennis. Really? Yeah.

01:28:50 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 2:

Rugby. Rugby. On a foreign team you don't even know the name of and you can't pronounce.

01:28:55 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 1:

You must be winning money, because if you're losing money, you'd be right away.

01:29:00 - 01:29:04 | Speaker 2:

Or you have a big problem. You know, it could be a little bit of both.

01:29:05 - 01:29:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. These are all guys that are choosing this over sex. What about the women? Are the women choosing things over sex? What's up, Brett?

01:29:13 - 01:29:29 | Speaker 2:

I kind of envy you, Kev. You had a choice. You made the wrong one. I can't do anything for six months, bro. What happened? um we found out i had uh testicular cancer so i had to have um surgery done and i'm laid up for

01:29:29 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 1:

six weeks oh i'm so sorry do they take the testicles off when you have testicular cancer

01:29:35 - 01:29:55 | Speaker 2:

um you have an option if you want if they only take one they will give you like a prosthetic it doesn't serve anything it's just there to help like even out wow what did you do yeah you can't anything did you take the the plastic balls oh no my wife would have watched that she's like i

01:29:55 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 1:

don't need something fake in you wow so you just have no balls

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Speaker 5:

I have one.

01:30:01 - 01:30:04 | Speaker 3:

One. Do you, like, slide in the middle at that point?

01:30:05 - 01:30:18 | Speaker 5:

So what they do is when they take the testicle, they cut the spermatic tubes from that testicle and completely seal it off like they do with a woman when she gets her tubes tied.

01:30:18 - 01:30:20 | Speaker 4:

This is so interesting. That's actually very interesting.

01:30:20 - 01:30:25 | Speaker 3:

Walter, can I ask you, when you pee, does it, like, hurt?

01:30:26 - 01:30:30 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it hurts. it feels like I was being razor blazed.

01:30:31 - 01:30:36 | Speaker 2:

Wow. I'm sorry, this is... What were the symptoms? You sound so young.

01:30:37 - 01:30:55 | Speaker 5:

I'm 29. I found out because me and my wife were getting ready to bake cookies and something didn't feel right and I had some pain while she felt around and she felt peace. The peace died on my testicles.

01:30:55 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, wow. Good for your wife, by the way, for checking.

01:30:58 - 01:31:03 | Speaker 3:

It's a good reminder to go get tested. What's the date that you can finally let loose?

01:31:04 - 01:31:07 | Speaker 5:

I cannot let loose until March 30th.

01:31:07 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 2:

Hey, you call us on March 30th, and we're going to have a party on the air for you. Spring. Yeah.

01:31:11 - 01:31:16 | Speaker 3:

Just think about, like, grandmas and baseball until then, so you don't get excited.

01:31:17 - 01:31:19 | Unknown:

Will do, Mojo. Will do.

01:31:19 - 01:31:34 | Speaker 3:

All right, buddy. Go back on your recovery. I appreciate you. Bye. What's going on? Mojo in the morning. Laura? Hi. Hi. How are you? I'm good. How are you? Fantastic. Laura, what do you choose

01:31:34 - 01:31:41 | Speaker 4:

over sex? It's my husband. I am literally between his legs and on my knees. He will

01:31:41 - 01:32:07 | Speaker 3:

say, nope, my charcoal lit for my hookah. He doesn't want to have fun because he's choosing is hookah yes oh my god that is dumb yeah you're dumb what is it you're dumb for real you're dumb right no you are so dumb those are like they would be perfect together yeah literally hookah and you

01:32:07 - 01:32:15 | Speaker 4:

know yeah hookah and the hooch you know he's like it's been a long day i'm like okay bye but i would

01:32:15 - 01:32:44 | Speaker 3:

think right after you hookahed a little bit you'd be more into it you know yeah keep trying i'll have to get him to try can i be honest laura what i'd do is i'd hide the hookah and tell him he's got to give it to you and then you'll give it to him right i can't believe these guys that's crazy red flag yeah red flag for just the guy's got low testosterone or do you think he's got a girlfriend or something?

01:32:45 - 01:32:46 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

01:32:47 - 01:32:55 | Speaker 3:

I will tell you, man. That's amazing. All right. Thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Well, I'm excited that Chelsea's coming on.

01:32:57 - 01:32:57 | Speaker 4:

Hey,

01:32:58 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 1:

even if you're single, you're still getting screwed in many ways of your life. Screwed financially. Screwed by friends who tell you one thing, then do another. Screwed by your employer. See, you can still get screwed without having sex. This moment of clarity brought to you by Mojo in the Morning.

01:33:12 - 01:33:48 | Speaker 3:

all right is mojo in the morning show home of the war of the roses second date update dirty on the 30 five lies tell your mom am i the a-hole uh the throwback throwdown and um of course all of us it's good to have you guys here i love when listeners will say that their favorite part of the show is not necessarily one of those things i just said but just us just kind of shooting the spit with each other but um we have to give megan uh you know a little bit of props she says that now she is officially an adult with a capital a and it's because of something that she just

01:33:48 - 01:34:16 | Speaker 2:

recently did and what is that megan i just recently got my first costco membership oh it's so exciting i don't mean to brag but i feel very very adult and and only because i didn't even get it to shop at costco which is an added bonus for me i purely got it to save money on gas and i was like wow i'm a real adult i did the math i found out the best way to save money it was on my gas

01:34:16 - 01:34:29 | Speaker 3:

purchasing and the best place to get gas costco that's great so the the the which costco do you go to because you're in the city do you go to the one in warren or no i usually go to the one

01:34:29 - 01:34:36 | Speaker 2:

on nope uh secor and central and toledo oh you do okay yeah you drive all the way there well i'm

01:34:36 - 01:34:40 | Speaker 3:

using a lot of gas to go there if you're saving money well that's why i needed to save gases

01:34:40 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 2:

because i go to toledo probably three days a week at minimum i'm there all the time it's so funny to me when they're like toledo misses you i'm like i was there three hours ago what do you mean to i had dinner and i ripped to sean's but i had dinner at sean's like a week before it burned down, but I'm there all the time.

01:35:00 - 01:35:10 | Speaker 1:

Because I'm going back and forth, I try to fill up my gas tank in Toledo as often as possible just because it's so much cheaper down there. And I think the other day I got gas for like $2.40.

01:35:10 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 2:

If you want to.

01:35:12 - 01:35:14 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's why I get all of my gas in Toledo.

01:35:14 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 2:

Want to be bougie, go to the Costco in Sylvania and go see. Perrysburg. Or Perrysburg, I'm sorry. And go see J.E. Is he at that point? J.E. is at the, yeah. Yeah, J.E. drives every day from South Lyon to Perrysburg.

01:35:32 - 01:35:32 | Speaker 1:

Dude.

01:35:33 - 01:35:48 | Speaker 2:

And does the Costco. He said it's his way of working up in the Costco ranks. But you got to go see him because, let me say this to you, he's got every single Costco hack ever. Like, he'll tell me, he tells me, you know, when.

01:35:48 - 01:35:50 | Speaker 4:

What are the Costco hacks?

01:35:50 - 01:35:54 | Speaker 2:

Like, when certain things are coming to the store, like, you know, like the canopies for the summertime.

01:35:55 - 01:35:57 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I need the front porch plants.

01:35:57 - 01:36:20 | Speaker 2:

I get there. Tony Travato always asks him when the Christmas cookies are coming and stuff like that. But so you're so adulting. Here, let's throw this out there. What was the thing that you did that made you really feel like an adult? Like, what was your thing that made you go, I am an adult? I remember for me, the first adult thing was the first time I had to go to court.

01:36:20 - 01:36:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, damn. That's not fun.

01:36:22 - 01:36:35 | Speaker 2:

And I got a ticket. A speeding ticket, and I had to go to court, and the funny thing was I put on a pair of khakis. Putting on a pair of khakis makes you feel like an adult, too, doesn't it? If you throw those things on.

01:36:35 - 01:36:37 | Speaker 3:

Dockers, you could pour water on and roll light off.

01:36:37 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 2:

And I remember walking into the courtroom, and I'm sitting in the courtroom next to a bunch of people that looked like they all murdered people. Oh, God. And I'm judging and going, I think that person's up for murder. It's just a violation. What was yours that made you feel like an adult for the first time?

01:36:52 - 01:36:57 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I'm trying to think, bro. probably doing my taxes or something like that yeah yeah or signing up for insurance at like

01:36:57 - 01:37:21 | Speaker 4:

my first job i was like well i don't even know what i'm mom i just want to be on your insurance that's megan and i had a very adult conversation this morning about it was so exciting you guys i'm surprised you didn't jump in wood floors oh my god oh my god during the conversation i'm like what is that we are so adult that we are getting excited about wood floor colors kevin and i giggle

01:37:21 - 01:37:58 | Speaker 2:

when we say wood floors. No, we don't. Well, no, I know. Now you giggle. Now you giggle. Play along with me every now and again. Kevin doesn't like, Kevin has this thing, anytime I bring up anything like, you know, that could be of potential sexual nature between me and him, he always, no, we don't. I'm not playing those games. I asked Kevin one time, I asked Kevin one time, I said, who's your biggest man crush? I don't have a man crush. I did not respond like that. And I go, I have a man crush on Tom Brady. I love him. And he goes, I go, what about you? You got a man crush? I don't. I go, what about Denzel? Do you have a man crush?

01:37:59 - 01:38:00 | Speaker 3:

I don't.

01:38:00 - 01:38:10 | Speaker 2:

You don't have a man crush. Why is that weird? Oh, I have female crush. There's no guy that you find attractive at all. Why is that weird for me to say no? There's no guy that you look at and go, man, I would. No.

01:38:10 - 01:38:12 | Speaker 3:

You lied. Finish your sentence.

01:38:12 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 2:

It's not going to make you gay. No. I promise you.

01:38:14 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 3:

You said there's no guy that I look at and it makes me go. Yeah.

01:38:19 - 01:38:23 | Speaker 2:

It makes me go, what? You're like, I don't know. You know, something like that.

01:38:23 - 01:38:26 | Speaker 3:

No, finish what you just said. So you look at Tom Brady and it makes you go, what?

01:38:26 - 01:38:29 | Speaker 2:

It makes me go, man, he's hot. I get that a little bit.

01:38:29 - 01:38:32 | Speaker 3:

And it's strange that I don't feel that way. No, I'm another guy.

01:38:32 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 4:

You don't think other, like, look at another guy. Like, I look at Kristen Goff. I look at Jared Goff's wife and go, oh, my God, she is hot. Like, she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

01:38:41 - 01:38:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't look at a man and be like, damn. Jared Goff. He looks nice. Jared Goff. No, I don't.

01:38:45 - 01:38:49 | Speaker 2:

Last night looked great at that day.

01:38:49 - 01:38:55 | Speaker 3:

I'm not looking at him. I'm looking at his wife. His wife's beautiful. That's cool. I don't have to feel like that, though. Okay. And that's cool, too. Come on.

01:38:55 - 01:39:08 | Speaker 2:

There's got to be one guy in this world that you look at and you go, man, oh, man. Nobody? Amaran St. Brown? That's your second one? No. No. Who's your starting five?

01:39:08 - 01:39:09 | Speaker 3:

Who's your starting five, Mojo?

01:39:10 - 01:39:21 | Speaker 2:

You know what? My starting five would be Tom Brady, number one, Ryan Reynolds, number two. I don't need a five. I just need three. I can't handle five.

01:39:21 - 01:39:23 | Speaker 4:

Say Jason Bateman.

01:39:23 - 01:39:35 | Speaker 2:

No, I'm not a Jason Bateman guy. He's too plain for me. He's too plain for me. I would probably say, oh, you've got to love me some Matthew McConaughey. You know? There's something about it.

01:39:35 - 01:39:38 | Speaker 1:

Yes, because there is no bigger homosexual than me.

01:39:38 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 2:

All right, now back to Megan's topic here. Go back to Megan. Yeah, that got sidetracked real quick. Real quick, though, but you can call us up if you would like to ask Kevin a guy and see if Kevin thinks he's attractive. What's up? Renee, what's going on?

01:39:51 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 1:

What's going on, Mojo?

01:39:53 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 2:

Hi, how are you? What was it that you did that made you feel like an adult?

01:39:57 - 01:40:11 | Speaker 1:

So the first time that I went to go drive... Drop off my rent check after moving out, ending college, and dropping off that big check to the landlord and being like, wow, that was a lot of money. I'm an adult.

01:40:11 - 01:40:16 | Speaker 3:

That's big. Yes. Or putting a down payment down on an apartment or a house.

01:40:16 - 01:40:17 | Speaker 5:

That deposit.

01:40:17 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 3:

That deposit is big.

01:40:19 - 01:40:21 | Speaker 5:

I felt like I wanted to cry after I did that for the first time.

01:40:22 - 01:40:24 | Speaker 3:

Caitlin, what's yours? What's your big adult move?

01:40:24 - 01:40:31 | Speaker 1:

when i learned how to mail a package at the post office or even just go into the post office

01:40:31 - 01:41:11 | Speaker 3:

do you ever notice the only people at the post office are 80 year old people and me i'm there once a week at least i hate when whatever company i buy something from says i have to take it to the usps i want i'd rather it off for the for the return yeah i'd rather take it to the uh mailboxes etc or the ups stores but don't they give you a prepaid and you just drop it in the bin no but i have to stand there and uh i have to get a packaging thing and i and i hate that i gotta sit there and you got an old person in front of you that's complaining about their mail delivery or something uh this is a big one this is when you know you're an adult megan it bigger than even the costco card what's that sean

01:41:11 - 01:41:20 | Speaker 2:

four new tires at one time i was a grown at a kid house and everything before new tires at once i

01:41:20 - 01:41:25 | Speaker 6:

Oh, I cry for that, too. I have to do that soon, and it stresses me out.

01:41:26 - 01:41:46 | Speaker 3:

It is a big purchase, and let me say this to you with the Costco card. Go to Costco. They got great deals on tires. Megan will go with you and lend you her Costco membership. You got to be there, though, now. That's the thing that sucks with these Costco now. They're very particular about making sure you don't use somebody else's card.

01:41:46 - 01:41:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they have the scanners.

01:41:48 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 3:

And it's got your picture, too.

01:41:50 - 01:41:54 | Speaker 5:

I did not know they took your picture. They scan it now. They don't just look at it. What's your picture look like? Can we see it?

01:41:55 - 01:41:59 | Speaker 3:

It's so bad. Which membership did you do? Did you do the $39.99 one?

01:41:59 - 01:42:01 | Speaker 6:

Whatever the cheapest one is, I'm broke.

01:42:01 - 01:42:02 | Speaker 3:

You didn't do the business one?

01:42:03 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 6:

With what money was I going to spend that much money for what? What was the perk? I get money back. What's the perk of business?

01:42:08 - 01:42:10 | Speaker 3:

I get money back, and it looks like I own a business.

01:42:10 - 01:42:17 | Speaker 6:

Oh, it's not even that. I don't have a credit card, so I didn't want to open one. Oh, yeah, that's great. I've never had a credit card.

01:42:17 - 01:42:20 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that's a big adult move. I've never had one. When you get a credit card for the first time.

01:42:21 - 01:42:23 | Speaker 5:

Shannon? Mine's actually cuter than my driver's license.

01:42:24 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 3:

You got to build credit.

01:42:28 - 01:42:34 | Speaker 6:

Wait, what's worse, my Costco or my passport photo? Because they're bad. No. Oh, yours is nice.

01:42:35 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 3:

I actually went and got makeup done by Shannon's friend Renee from Rochester.

01:42:41 - 01:42:42 | Speaker 5:

Laura, Laura.

01:42:43 - 01:42:44 | Speaker 4:

Make a double, your Costco photo?

01:42:44 - 01:42:47 | Speaker 5:

That doesn't even look like you anymore, though, Megan.

01:42:47 - 01:42:55 | Speaker 3:

Hold on a second. Hold on. Becca wants to talk to Kevin. What you got, baby? Oh, wow. That's bad. You got to get a new picture.

01:42:55 - 01:42:58 | Speaker 4:

Look at her cast go in. Let's hear Becca call me on.

01:42:58 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Oh, that's cute. That's cute.

01:42:59 - 01:43:00 | Speaker 4:

You're not looking. No.

01:43:01 - 01:43:04 | Speaker 3:

She looks pale, though. She looks pale. She does.

01:43:04 - 01:43:05 | Speaker 4:

She didn't get her makeup done.

01:43:05 - 01:43:10 | Speaker 3:

Becca wants to talk to Kevin. Everybody's quiet for one second. Go ahead, Becca.

01:43:11 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 1:

Kev, you lie. You're telling me you can't tell the difference between an attractive man and a non-attractive man. It's the same thing.

01:43:19 - 01:43:19 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:43:20 - 01:43:27 | Speaker 1:

You're not straight out being like, dang, he's hot. You're just acknowledging the person is a good-looking man.

01:43:27 - 01:43:35 | Speaker 4:

That's cool. That I can do. I can do that. But I'm not sitting up here saying, my God, Tom Brady is so hot. That's where Mojo's at.

01:43:35 - 01:43:49 | Speaker 3:

I say, Tom, if I could look like somebody other than me, I would want to look like Tom Brady. Really? Yes. I look amazing. I'm staying where I'm at. He's perfect. He is perfect. There's no guy that you think is better looking than you.

01:43:49 - 01:43:50 | Speaker 4:

Bro, listen.

01:43:51 - 01:43:56 | Speaker 1:

I'm trying to, like, explain it better because I feel like most men instantly jump to the, I'm not gay.

01:43:57 - 01:44:23 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm not gay, bud. I didn't say that. It didn't have anything to do with that. But when you hear Mojo say, Tom Brady is hot, if I could look like anybody, I would want to look like that. He's perfect. I don't feel that way about any other man. That's what I'm saying. To your point, yeah, it's ugly. I was about to cut his ugly people across the gamut. I don't care what your gender is. And it's nice-looking people across the gamut. But I'm not sitting up here saying, oh, my God, look at this man.

01:44:23 - 01:44:27 | Speaker 3:

What about Dorian, who's here from the London Chop House? Would you do him? You tell him.

01:44:28 - 01:44:29 | Speaker 6:

No.

01:44:31 - 01:44:37 | Speaker 3:

Zero to 100, real quick. Dorian. Dorian's like, I don't believe it. Dorian, when you're having sex, do you go, oh, oh, oh.

01:44:37 - 01:44:39 | Speaker 5:

Don't do that to him. Don't do that to him.

01:44:39 - 01:44:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

01:44:42 - 01:44:43 | Speaker 2:

That's right.

01:44:43 - 01:44:59 | Speaker 3:

That's right. That's why his voice is like that cuz he's got all of it inside of him still. It's amazing Oh hold on this is a good one Marvin Marvin

01:45:00 - 01:45:02 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's going on, guys?

01:45:02 - 01:45:04 | Speaker 4:

What's happening? What up, Marvin? Yeah.

01:45:04 - 01:45:18 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what up? I had said DTE bill and water bill because think about your water bill, most of the money you're paying for your water bill going down the drain because it's the sewage part of it.

01:45:18 - 01:45:28 | Speaker 5:

Okay. Now you're getting in the weeds there. But you're right, though. Paying those two bills, when you've got a water bill and a DTE bill coming in your way, that means you're an adult.

01:45:29 - 01:45:57 | Speaker 1:

And I was going to say, too, my mom lives in California, so I'm still watching out for her. She's staying in L.A. How close is she to the fires? She said it's about maybe 20 minutes away. Wow. 20 minutes? Because it just hit Santa Monica, and Santa Monica is maybe like 20, 25 minutes away from her. So, yeah, she was saying that.

01:45:57 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 5:

Buddy, we're praying for her and everybody in California. This is just tragic. So thank you. Thank you, buddy. I appreciate you. Keep us informed on how Mom's doing. Katie, hi. When is it that you knew you were an adult for the first time?

01:46:12 - 01:46:33 | Speaker 3:

When I got excited over a vacuum. Oh, yeah. No, that's real. That is real. I actually asked our boss, Tony, if I get us to a million followers on TikTok, can he buy me a Dyson vacuum? And he said yes. No, get the melee. You don't want Dyson. Get the melee. They crap. Really? I want the handheld one. No, it's crap. I want it portable. In a year, it goes bye-bye.

01:46:34 - 01:46:44 | Speaker 5:

By the way, all you guys are old. Just by talking about this, this is an adult old conversation, talking about a vacuum. Man, I knew I was old yesterday. I saw a dude in a suit. The suit was cold. I'm like, you look sharp.

01:46:44 - 01:46:48 | Speaker 2:

You said sharp? I said sharp. Did you say I like your top and slacks?

01:46:49 - 01:46:53 | Speaker 5:

The suit was cold. Was he hot in that sharp suit? See what I mean?

01:46:53 - 01:47:02 | Speaker 3:

He's not. See what I mean? check out our facebook page facebook facebook.com slash mojo in the morning

01:47:02 - 01:47:21 | Speaker 4:

01:47:21 - 01:50:20 | Speaker 2:

Quickly trying to text Bianca, being like, can you please pull the audio from this live? Okay, let us be, let us begin. Like, this is mass. This is my mass. The dirty on the dirty. Bianca Sensori allegedly wants to leave Kanye West, but she is frightened because he controls so many aspects of her life. Now, things are changing. An insider is telling me that Kanye is currently in Japan while Bianca remains in L.A. Now, the pair have been bouncing around L.A. hotels for the past few weeks after spending the majority of their past few years in Japan. But the last time they were pictured together out in public was back in February in West Hollywood. Bianca recently fled to a different hotel on her own, only to be lured back. Now, allegedly, Bianca went to another hotel. Somebody ratted her out, so Kanye sent his security guards over and would not leave her alone. This was about a week ago, and now he's left town. They went on to reveal that she's living under this aggressive situation. She's got to run, but he's obsessed with her. It's been hard for her to get out on her own and to move around. So take that for what it is. That's rumor, but it's a shoe fence. DNA testing firm 23 in May has filed for bankruptcy protection after years of struggling to find a profitable business model. The company said that their CEO and co-founder, she's resigned from her position, but she's going to remain on the board of directors. Now, this company was founded back in 2006. It's been around for forever. They went public back in 2021. But what's interesting is that they have never turned a profit. More than 15 million people have given the company DNA samples, which, let's be honest here, is probably going to be sold in these bankruptcy proceedings. We have no idea who those are going to go to. 23andMe does plan to continue operating because they want to keep collecting your DNA. Interesting side note here. Nate Johnson, who's a U.S. Treasury Department policy advisor, has exposed that 23andMe has been secretly sharing customer data with nearly every country. Again, not surprising. Miley Cyrus' ninth studio album is going to be released on May 30th. It's going to have 13 original tracks and an Instagram post she put up yesterday. She unveiled the artwork for the record, which sees her draped in this, like, 1997 Terry Mugler couture. It is absolutely stunning, to be honest. She says that it's striking a nod to the album's bold aesthetic and visual storytelling. And honestly, after the song Flowers dropped, what was it, last year or the year before? It's been huge for forever. I'm ready for a new album. I'm ready for new music. All right, Ariana Grande, rumored to have broken up. With her boyfriend and Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater. Now, this is all rumor at this point. But remember, Ethan Slater left his now ex-wife after they had just had a child together. Ariana left her husband, Dalton Gomez, when they were rumored to get together during the filming of Wicked. And now, like I said, this is just rumors and speculation here. But people are saying they've split up.

01:50:20 - 01:52:42 | Speaker 2:

And if that's the case, I'm wondering how awkward the press tour for Wicked Part 2 is going to be. Because Ethan has a much larger role in the second movie. They're going to have to promote it together, but that actually might be our telltale sign if they do press together or separately as to the status of their relationship, because spoiler alert, their characters are involved in part two, so they should be promoting it together. Okay, this is kind of crazy. BTS, let's talk about them for a second, because Jungkook fell victim to a major hacking. He had $5 million worth of stock in his South Korean music label, Hybe, stolen from his account. Now, the hacker reportedly created an unauthorized account under his name in January of last year, which was just a month after he enlisted in his mandatory military service. His label, which is Big Hit Music, said, as soon as the company and the artist became aware of the criminal activity, we took measures such as suspending payments to the account and restoring the original value. Jungkook also filed a lawsuit to reclaim 500 shares that had been sold. The court did rule in his favor. The hacker still remains at large, however, sparking concerns about how they accessed his private details. Some people are probably, certainly, they're suggesting at the back that this hacker probably knows Jungkook personally. And then finally, Teresa Giudice, Giudice, I don't know, what is she going, but Giudice says... Justice! She changes it all the time. Yeah, well, her and her husband were slammed with this massive tax lien. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa and her husband, Luis, are on the hook for some big money with Uncle Sam. The couple have been hit with over $3 million in tax liens. Teresa owes more than $300,000. Her husband owes nearly $2.6 million. Now, this is in addition to a previous lien that her husband was hit with back in December for over $160,000. That is reportedly still an ongoing case. Teresa and money, obviously, we know they don't mix well. She already spent time behind bars back in 2015, serving 11 months for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. So she got history. All right, you can check out all of today's Dirty by listening to our podcast by searching Mojo in the Morning on that free iHeartRadio app.

01:52:45 - 01:53:08 | Speaker 3:

Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source, is Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. hold on a second hold on um what is it that somebody was asking you to are you gonna sell it to them or are you gonna do it as a favor for them i'm not doing it at all well you're not but what were they asking you for they was asking for my pee wait wait hold on like your like my

01:53:08 - 01:53:19 | Speaker 1:

penis oh wait i don't know what you were talking about wait that's why i looked at you like that I'm like, wait, what?

01:53:19 - 01:53:23 | Speaker 3:

So they were asking you, was this a stranger or who was it?

01:53:23 - 01:53:35 | Speaker 4:

No, this is a family member. I ain't going to put them out there on blast, but this is a family member. Oh, is it a drug test situation? That's exactly what it is. They get a new job and it's job drug tests and they smoke weed. The job doesn't allow that. Don't take that job.

01:53:36 - 01:53:43 | Speaker 1:

Wait, what job? Truly, what job doesn't allow you to smoke weed when you go home? In a lot of Ohio jobs still have an issue with it. Even if it's legal? Really?

01:53:43 - 01:53:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I did not know that. No, you can't. Well, hospitals too, you can't.

01:53:46 - 01:53:49 | Speaker 1:

Oh, well, that would make sense to me. Okay, yes.

01:53:49 - 01:53:50 | Speaker 3:

They don't want you high on the job.

01:53:51 - 01:53:56 | Speaker 1:

There are people who work in Michigan who still get drug tested. If it's just against your company's policy or if they're a worldwide company.

01:53:56 - 01:54:00 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so they asked you to pee for them.

01:54:00 - 01:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Why do you pee sitting down? You crap standing up. They say, can you pee in a cup?

01:54:05 - 01:54:14 | Speaker 3:

I got a test. How do they know that you're... Listen, out of everybody's pee on this show, I ain't choosing your pee. Why? Because I don't know where your pee's been. I don't know what you've done.

01:54:14 - 01:54:28 | Speaker 4:

Well, what color was my pee this morning? It might be a lighter yellow because I think I had some juice last night. I'm typically clear string. Wait, you don't do any narcotics at all? I don't smoke. I don't sniff. I don't shoot up. All I do is sit.

01:54:28 - 01:54:29 | Unknown:

I'm on drugs.

01:54:30 - 01:54:36 | Speaker 4:

None at all. I haven't smoked Weebro in years. Really? Yeah, that's not my vibe no more. It takes me somewhere I don't need to go.

01:54:36 - 01:54:40 | Speaker 3:

Why do your eyes always look a little glossy? That's just the shine of God.

01:54:41 - 01:54:44 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. It's a sparkle in your eyes. Is that what it is? Twinkle, twinkle.

01:54:44 - 01:55:00 | Speaker 3:

Interesting. I've always wondered this with the can I get your pee. Somebody needs to call us up and tell us, and this might be from back in the day, but could that work? Because I've taken drug tests before, and they make you go into a bathroom, and it's got to be.

01:55:00 - 01:55:15 | Speaker 5:

be at certain temperature i don't know if there are people that it does i think yeah yeah i mean i've heard that certain jobs they'll go in the bathroom with you like they're not looking at your part to see the pee actually come out but like they're physically in the dressing with you

01:55:15 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 6:

they're making sure you don't pull bottles out yeah baggies or anything like that um i when i've done i've done two drug tests in my life and the two drug tests that i've done both were go into this bathroom and it was a one-staller, but it was going to this bathroom and it was with the little sample cup or whatever it was. And it was the moment that you're done, you know, they would tell you how to do it, which by the way, I got to be quite honest with you. I would always feel like a man because the cup always made me feel like a man because I would pee so much pee that I would overflow the cup. You only need to put a little bit in there. You

01:55:48 - 01:55:54 | Speaker 2:

don't just put the adequate amount in and then pee the rest in the toilet. I peed all over the

01:55:54 - 01:55:55 | Speaker 6:

cups, so they had to smell my pee.

01:55:56 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 2:

Because girls have to pee every time they go to the gynecologist. You don't fill it up? No. Dr. Werner gives you these little itty-bitty plastic cups. I fill it up maybe halfway, and then I set it on the ground, and then I pee the rest of my pee in the toilet. I need to take a pee-pee. Because why does it need to be filling over the brim?

01:56:16 - 01:56:18 | Speaker 5:

You got to give it... They only need a little bit.

01:56:20 - 01:56:22 | Speaker 6:

Less is more, or more is less.

01:56:22 - 01:56:25 | Speaker 5:

I feel that boy, yeah. If I got to go, might as well give him a little bit.

01:56:26 - 01:56:29 | Speaker 6:

Sean, by the way, you ever had to give him a stool sample? Not yet.

01:56:30 - 01:56:33 | Speaker 2:

I have never had to do that. That's the worst. You give them your doo-doo?

01:56:34 - 01:56:46 | Speaker 6:

I had to give them. That was like the worst. That would be the day. They give you a little spoon to scoop it with. Like literally, it's like, you know those ice creams that come with their own little spoons? That's what it looks like.

01:56:46 - 01:57:00 | Speaker 2:

Wait, what if it's not solid that day? You got to put it on. You got to poop at home and bring it in. Like I do at the vet, like bring Charlie's poop in? Or do you have to poop there? I could not poop on demand. No, I brought it in.

01:57:00 - 01:57:02 | Speaker 6:

I did my first.

01:57:02 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 2:

Do you buckle it into your passenger seat?

01:57:04 - 01:57:14 | Speaker 6:

Oh, listen, I figure if I'm going to get pulled over by a cop, that might get me out of the traffic ticket. I got bio waste on my passenger seat. And I actually keep the seat warm, too.

01:57:15 - 01:57:17 | Speaker 2:

Some issues are the worst.

01:57:17 - 01:57:27 | Speaker 6:

Shauna, we were talking about how Kev was asked by a family friend member for his pee. What's going on?

01:57:28 - 01:57:40 | Speaker 3:

So my kids are eight, my boys are eight years apart, and my middle son was, like, you know, good in school, good in sports, while his brother is eight years older than him. So he would sell his piss to all of his brothers and friends.

01:57:40 - 01:57:41 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God.

01:57:41 - 01:57:51 | Speaker 3:

And make extra money in high school because his piss was clean. Like, people would literally be hitting me up asking me to get him out of school so they could get some pee. I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa.

01:57:52 - 01:58:06 | Speaker 6:

By the way, I got to tell you, I don't know. Where are you from, by the way? Well, I'm from QS, Florida, but I live in Adrian. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I love that you call it piss. I'm like, eh, my piss. My son's pissed.

01:58:06 - 01:58:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, because I have a bunch of boys, so they're just, like, they're ruthless.

01:58:10 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 6:

I love it. Thank you, Mom, for calling in.

01:58:12 - 01:58:18 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. So, and you use a pocket warmer. Oh, is that what it's called? Pocket warmer.

01:58:20 - 01:58:24 | Speaker 6:

Is that like, wait, is a pocket warmer like those things you hold on to as you're out at a football game?

01:58:25 - 01:58:29 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it helps keep your urine warm. I mean, all the tricks.

01:58:30 - 01:58:38 | Speaker 6:

Man, oh, man. Thank you for the call. Ryan, what's going on? How are you? Not too much. What's going on? Nothing much. We're talking about people selling their pee.

01:58:40 - 01:59:00 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, well, this was a family deal, so I guess they got the family discount. Someone I used to work with had her son pee in a bag, and she taped it to the inside of her thigh so it would be warm when she had to go take the test. Look at the bag bus. It's too risky. I don't know. I think, you know, honestly, I think she might have used a condom. I've heard that too, yeah.

01:59:00 - 01:59:03 | Speaker 6:

I like, by the way, the family deal. All I think about is the LaFontaine's.

01:59:03 - 01:59:04 | Speaker 2:

Yes, thank you.

01:59:04 - 01:59:09 | Speaker 6:

Get the family deal on pee. That's awesome. Thank you for the call. What's up, Elizabeth?

01:59:09 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

hey so i work for a company and we have truck drivers on staff i drive not a truck but a car for my job i had to take a drug test but our truck drivers have to pass drug tests uh with no trace of marijuana because they have a cdl license okay okay okay and um and as far as Kevin, given his piss to his family member, the people that do drug testing know when they grab that cup what temperature it should be. I know the guy just said take a pocket warmer, but you cannot walk into the bathroom with anything. Like, they'll see stuff in your pockets. You can't take a jacket. You can't take a bag. They will sometimes put a...

02:00:00 - 02:00:08 | Speaker 6:

thermometer in the pee to make sure it's body temp so good luck to kevin's guy but they are

02:00:08 - 02:00:19 | Speaker 4:

way smart at these places yeah they've got detections i know on that they can tell what's going on uh initial b wants to be voices guys listen to this one initial b i'm looking at your

02:00:19 - 02:00:39 | Speaker 3:

your comment here what's up so i have to take a drug test and i knew i was gonna fail so i use a latex and I used my little sister's pee because I knew she was clean. And I actually put it inside of me because I knew it needed to be warm and I just pinched it off.

02:00:40 - 02:00:47 | Speaker 4:

So wait, so your sister gives you hers, you put it in a latex condom and then you put it in your vagina?

02:00:48 - 02:00:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:00:49 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 4:

And then you go into the testing room and just break off the thing and put it into the thing

02:00:58 - 02:01:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have long nails, so I can pop it.

02:01:01 - 02:01:09 | Speaker 4:

So, oh, my gosh. Finger pop. Question for you on this. Is this doing the testing because you're, like, in trouble with the law and you're not supposed to be doing drugs?

02:01:11 - 02:01:13 | Speaker 2:

No, it was for a temp service. They watch you.

02:01:14 - 02:01:14 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

02:01:15 - 02:01:20 | Speaker 2:

And I had to practice to pop it. So it wasn't the first try. It was a pass.

02:01:20 - 02:01:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, to try practice. Because I know that there's a lot of people when their number gets or their color gets called, because I know it's – I think it's a color system. They'll, like, call, like, all the people that are blue have to go in and do tests for when you get in trouble, the law. I wonder if some of those people have to do that, too. Jesus on the phone with us right now. What's up, Jesus?

02:01:41 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 5:

Hey, sir. So long-time listener, first-time caller. Hey, Jesus! So I actually went to take a drug test, and I knew that I was going to pee dirty for marijuana, So I asked my father to pee for me, and I got my result back a week later, and I got fired because I failed my job for cocaine.

02:02:02 - 02:02:03 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God.

02:02:03 - 02:02:07 | Speaker 5:

Shut up. That's insane. Oh, my God.

02:02:07 - 02:02:11 | Speaker 4:

Daddy's own booger cigarette. Did you know your dad did that?

02:02:12 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 5:

No, no, I had no clue at all. And then when I told him about it, he was like, dude, I totally forgot. I am so sorry.

02:02:18 - 02:02:33 | Speaker 4:

Oh, come on. Oh, my God. That's crazy. Oh, my Lord. That is unbelievable. That is. What a crazy call that is. What's going on, Gabriel?

02:02:35 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 7:

What's up? First time, long time.

02:02:37 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 1:

Hey! Gabriel on the phone.

02:02:39 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 4:

Anytime we talk about drugs, we get all the first-time callers calling in. What's going on?

02:02:46 - 02:03:11 | Speaker 7:

Not much. I had a story where I had to drop for a job, and a buddy of mine, I had to have him urine in a balloon. I tied the balloon up, put the balloon in my underwear right underneath my genitals, had to go to the employer, and then had to put a needle to pop the balloon and then put it into the cup to be able to pass the test.

02:03:11 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 4:

Unreal. Were you worried at all about making the wrong move and having that balloon pop when you weren't supposed to have it pop?

02:03:21 - 02:03:34 | Speaker 7:

Actually, when I went to go pop it, it almost got stuck in the balloon, so it almost got to the point where I had to rip it. So then it would have just went everywhere, but luckily I was able to save it in time without making too much noise in the bathroom.

02:03:35 - 02:03:58 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my God. Yeah, they go into the bathroom and you hear, like on the rubber of the balloon. And you got the job, right? Yeah, I hope. I hung up on him. You're fine. Hopefully, that last guy's dad wasn't on. Dan, last call on this one here. What's going on, Dan? Not much. How about you, Mojo? I'm honestly dumbfounded. These calls have been fantastic this morning. What's going on?

02:03:59 - 02:04:41 | Speaker 6:

You saved the batch for last. This one's just like, basically like a strap-on, but it's got a, my buddy used to use it to pass his drug test. Um, the pee for probation, well, it's basically like a strap-on, you wear it, and it's got a bag attached to it, and you use, like, a hand warmer, too, to hold the pee, and I didn't touch it, but I was wondering how it worked. It's just like milking a cow, you squeeze it, and it comes out. Wow. Yeah. Does this thing have a name? It's called the Whizinator. Come on! You made that up.

02:04:41 - 02:04:48 | Speaker 4:

It is the Wizinator? This is like a commercial in the middle of the night. Ron Popeil's Wizinator.

02:04:48 - 02:04:57 | Speaker 6:

But could you imagine if that thing ruptured while you're wearing it? Or can you imagine watching someone else's pee all over you?

02:04:57 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 4:

Or watching him milk the...

02:05:00 - 02:05:00 | Unknown:

Oh, my God.

02:05:01 - 02:05:07 | Speaker 4:

Let me see, Ken. All I'm thinking about is Meet the Fockers when he was talking about milking the cow.

02:05:07 - 02:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, he's not joking. It looks like I don't want to say it again.

02:05:11 - 02:05:14 | Speaker 2:

He looked it up instantly. Oh, that's the best, Dan.

02:05:14 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 4:

I had to, bro. Appreciate you, buddy. Thanks for calling, Dan. Yo, man. Go on. Bye. WKQI Detroit. WSNX Mesquite and Grand Rapids. WVKS Toledo. Three great stations. One stupid show. this is mojo in the morning live all right it's mojo in the morning it's time now for am i the a-hole uh this morning's am i the a-hole is an interesting one casey you do not want to be voice disguised or you do want to be voice disguised uh i'm fine with okay without all right no voice disguise here is casey an a-hole for doing what he is doing in preparation for something very interesting so tell everybody what you got going on yes so my um one of my best friends uh

02:06:10 - 02:07:14 | Speaker 3:

is uh he he's in the process of going through a divorce getting ready to go to you know he met with a divorce attorney and uh i he like just to support him i was like you're my boy i'll go with you. And so I went and went with him to the attorney's office. I'm married also. And so as I was there and listening to, you know, what was going down, I was like, huh. And he was trying to convince me I should get my divorce papers ready just in case. Are you thinking about and your wife no not at all me and my wife everything's great um you know like we there's no problems but like that's also with the case with my buddy and so i'm like if if you know if everything can seem perfect for him and everything's perfect for me right now i don't know just like in preparation i was like why not just be a little proactive in case there ever was an issue

02:07:14 - 02:07:29 | Speaker 4:

with my wife so you're not necessarily in a bad spot with your wife but you're using the free legal advice you potentially could get to be prepared just in case you get into a bad spot with

02:07:29 - 02:07:37 | Speaker 3:

your wife right exactly and uh so they drew up some papers and i have them in my car and they're

02:07:37 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 1:

like lock and key you know put away just like it's like fat like facts or advice or seeing like what

02:07:45 - 02:08:03 | Speaker 3:

like just like what a contract would look like in case something were to go down you know why would you do that it was just you know solely precautionary just you know i don't know i think maybe my buddy's voice got in my ear and i'm just kind of wondering if i'm being an a-hole just for

02:08:03 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 1:

even well i would throw those away as fast as you possibly could if everything is really great

02:08:08 - 02:08:20 | Speaker 4:

between you and your wife right now like i don't know shannon have you ever heard the saying divorce is contagious sometimes people who get divorced or have friends that get divorced

02:08:20 - 02:08:53 | Speaker 1:

sometimes they want to have friends i understand but he had no reason to do what he did i think you were a great friend to go with and i think that it's natural curiosity if you're if you're in the room when a discussion is happening to be like oh you know i didn't know that you should stay in the house or like that's very natural but for you to take it a step further and have papers drawn up and and keep them to me if i found that in west's glove compartment or whatever that would completely change our entire relationship right now it sends a bad

02:08:53 - 02:09:00 | Speaker 4:

message to her that you don't think that your relationship is strong i i i think it's strong

02:09:00 - 02:09:12 | Speaker 3:

i know it's strong i just yeah i mean seeing seeing what my buddy's going through it's just you know it's uh it's really hard and he you know i've had other friends who've gone through it and

02:09:12 - 02:09:24 | Speaker 4:

weren't prepared at all and just got their butt handed to them so um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 Bill wants to comment. Bill, do you think that Casey's an a-hole for this?

02:09:24 - 02:09:28 | Speaker 2:

I think he's an idiot. What if his wife is listening or friends?

02:09:28 - 02:09:31 | Speaker 4:

Right. That's why I said, should we voice disguise you or not use your name, you know?

02:09:31 - 02:09:37 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God, you idiot. I mean, I know, I know. It's like, how stupid are these people that dial into you, Mojo?

02:09:37 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know. I wouldn't call them stupid because we love them for calling, but I definitely gave them the option ahead of time. But here's the bigger question. Do you think that that's bad karma for him to even have these things? Yes. Yeah. I think that he's got to be careful. Like, I agree with what Shannon said. Hey, knowledge is power, so it's kind of good to know what the story is.

02:10:00 - 02:10:09 | Speaker 3:

is, but you shouldn't have to just know it because you think it's going to happen to you. Know it just for the sake of knowing it. What's going on? Am I the a-hole? Do you think that Casey's an a-hole?

02:10:11 - 02:10:11 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I do.

02:10:12 - 02:10:17 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Do you think he's going to be faced with some issues if she catches on to this?

02:10:17 - 02:10:23 | Speaker 8:

No. The fact of the matter is he's making it worse. He's going to say about it all day, every day.

02:10:23 - 02:10:24 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Yep.

02:10:25 - 02:10:28 | Speaker 8:

That's what I don't understand. Why would he even do that? It's like he's a follower.

02:10:28 - 02:10:30 | Speaker 3:

And he's also

02:10:30 - 02:10:32 | Speaker 8:

I'm sorry

02:10:32 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 3:

Are you having any problems Casey That's a good question

02:10:35 - 02:10:39 | Speaker 6:

No we're I mean We're all good

02:10:39 - 02:10:50 | Speaker 8:

You're making it like you're having problems Yeah No no no I love my wife

02:10:50 - 02:10:52 | Speaker 7:

She's great She doesn't listen to the radio

02:10:52 - 02:11:02 | Speaker 8:

That's what you're saying You say you love her buddy But you filed for divorce and she don't even know about it. I didn't file for divorce.

02:11:02 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 7:

I just, you got papers drawn, though. I just, it's like a precaution in case something were to come up. Like, I don't want to, you know, I've got my assets to protect and my, you know, I don't want to be.

02:11:16 - 02:11:22 | Speaker 8:

Anyhow, she's going to get anything she deserves anyway because you probably got kids. Them papers ain't going to mean nothing.

02:11:22 - 02:11:32 | Speaker 6:

yeah i mean i don't know i'm i'm starting to rethink it a little bit but uh i think the big

02:11:32 - 02:11:42 | Speaker 1:

thing here is if things are fine and she finds this things are not fine just caused a huge problem that might end your marriage when you absolutely don't even want to at this point

02:11:42 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 4:

lisa what's up am i the a-hole oh my yeah this is like the worst thing that you could do as a woman and finding those papers it's irreparable yeah there's no going back

02:11:56 - 02:12:00 | Speaker 3:

yeah kyle what what's going on am i the a-hole what are your thoughts

02:12:00 - 02:12:27 | Speaker 5:

uh so i don't think that it's wrong to be prepared my buddy is what him and his wife everything was fine and then he found out i don't know how long it was but her girls trips were down to florida and she was cheating on him the whole time every time that they would leave wow i don't think it's wrong to be prepared but holding the papers around that's uh that's a

02:12:27 - 02:12:32 | Speaker 3:

risky move that's interesting so your buddy actually had to do exactly this what's up ashley

02:12:32 - 02:12:57 | Speaker 2:

hi hi good morning good morning um yeah i definitely think you're being a bit of an a-hole there's uh definitely two different ways to go about this and be prepared if you're that worried and you don't want your butt handed to you if something were to happen down the road, get a prenup. Put it all on paper that way. It's too late for that now. He's already married. You can still do a prenup after you're married. Can you?

02:12:58 - 02:13:01 | Speaker 3:

Really? What made you decide to do a prenup after marriage?

02:13:02 - 02:13:21 | Speaker 2:

We sat down and talked in with his military benefits and all of that. We just figured it'd be better just to make sure all the kids get what they need and then I get what I need, and there's no fight if something were to happen and going to courts and all that. If on paper, dad figured it all out, and I sat there and helped him with it.

02:13:22 - 02:13:22 | Speaker 4:

Wow.

02:13:22 - 02:13:29 | Speaker 2:

And it's when we're happy. There's nothing wrong with being prepared. But divorce papers, that's a big no-no.

02:13:29 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 3:

That's interesting. I've never heard of somebody after the fact that got a prenup. Casey, am I the a-hole? I've got to be honest with you. I think what Shannon said with these papers, I'd get rid of those things right now. Those things would be in the most locked safety deposit box in another state or just rip them up.

02:13:49 - 02:13:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I would just shred them.

02:13:50 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, get rid of those things. Don't like the weather? Just wait 10 minutes.

02:13:54 - 02:13:56 | Speaker 5:

You're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

02:13:59 - 02:14:01 | Speaker 6:

Back to Mojo in the Morning.

02:14:08 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning Show. Yeah. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I have a quick question for you a second, Harry. I would like to know, is it sexual to touch another person's face if they have something on it? I was wearing my puffer coat, my winter jacket. And it's got a small...

02:15:00 - 02:17:11 | Speaker 1:

small hole in it somewhere. And so I see random feathers every now and again, especially if I'm wearing like a sweater and I will have like random sweater feathers that will like stick to it and stuff. Well, I was talking to a Mojo in the Morning listener and we were in the midst of a conversation, big time listener, by the way, huge fan of the second date update. She was telling me about how she loves the second date update, how it's like her favorite thing. She listens all the time thinks we should do it more she thinks we do the war of the roses more than the second date update i was trying to explain to her that that's not the case she's a bartender at uh little caesar's arena and i was there the other night going to a a game and she reaches over while we're in the midst of a conversation and she takes her fingers so she takes her pointer finger with her thumb okay like this and she gently touches my mustache uh-huh for what and then she pulls it apart pulls it out and has a feather there and goes you had a feather on you i'm sorry and i said to myself oh that seemed very erotic i everything's erotic to me i mean for some reason i don't know what it is it was kind of weird it was like first off when i saw her fingers coming towards me it was like i kept hearing you had a boogie and she was gonna get rid of it for you i was hearing the jaws music it was like like that coming towards me and as she grabbed it and pulled it away and then she grabbed one off of my shoulder and took the uh the feather off of my shoulder because i had another feather on my shoulder this vest by the way i think it's gonna have to go into retirement because i'm like wearing out the feathers and everything it's not warm enough at one point because it's got this little pinhole. I ended up getting it on clearance. But so let me go back to whatever my question was. Is it flirting? Because I didn't do anything, but a buddy of mine said that by her doing that, that that was probably like crossing the line. Her grabbing it off my mustache. I think it's crossing the

02:17:11 - 02:17:28 | Speaker 3:

line. I wouldn't consider it flirting. Really? Like, you and I have known each other for 20 years. Yes. And I would pick a feather off your jacket, but I would not pick a feather out of your mustache. I might say, hey, go like this. You have a feather right there. Yes. But even I, like, and we are friends. I would not.

02:17:28 - 02:17:49 | Speaker 1:

And I, yeah, and I've never met this woman ever, right? Like, you know, how does she know that I'm not one of those hyper crazy people that carries around hand sanitizers and stuff and wants people to, which by the way, it's time for people to stop the hand sanitizer thing that whole live downtown that the whole hands first off did you know that the hand sanitizer thing is they're saying that there's some kind of a virus

02:17:49 - 02:17:54 | Speaker 3:

that's going around right now it's norovirus and it is rotten and did you know that norovirus

02:17:54 - 02:18:10 | Speaker 1:

actually is immune from hand sanitizer yeah it's not a good idea to be using the hand sanitizer washers the hands with soap now back to my my topic already in progress uh megan what are your thoughts uh would you would you uh touch my mustache no i'm really with shannon on this one

02:18:10 - 02:18:15 | Speaker 2:

it seems kind of straightforward it's weird to touch a stranger i think although i will say it

02:18:15 - 02:18:30 | Speaker 3:

takes everything in me everything in me to not like peel somebody's summer if i see them out which somebody did that to me yeah remember i talked about this somebody did that to me maybe a year or two ago and it freaked me out but that it's like my hands want to do it so bad

02:18:30 - 02:18:35 | Speaker 2:

why am i like that but i would never ever there's another version of you somewhere they took those

02:18:35 - 02:18:57 | Speaker 1:

can cells and said duplicate um i saw kev was it last week i think kev did you had something on you megan and he actually asked if he could touch it and honestly i will say this to you i don't know if i as a guy i would not touch another woman even if it was you guys like i wouldn't sit there and go hey you got something on you i would just i'd let it go because i think nowadays you just got

02:18:57 - 02:19:23 | Speaker 3:

to be really careful about the touchy-touching like it is it's such a girl thing to notice when you have hair like on your shoulders or on your back hair that you know has like come out from your head and i do it to i feel like i do it to you all the time where i'm like you have a bunch a whole bunch of hair as i'm doing it but at least i've given you the heads up that i'm doing it because i'm bald but it's just like i think it's kind of weird to touch somebody without telling them what you're doing unless you're a very close friend to me do not touch me yeah you're not you're

02:19:23 - 02:19:35 | Speaker 1:

not a touchy feely i'm not have you ever been a touchy feely were you ever a cuddler at all in any relationships no what so so what is your form of affection that you would show in relationships

02:19:35 - 02:19:48 | Speaker 2:

what if you're mean no uh i need words of affirmation and listening ears okay listen and you respond back to me that's more important than any other but i'm saying your sign of

02:19:48 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 3:

affection to people sometimes like if you make fun of them like if you're sarcastic with them that is that's that's endearment for you just flirty sarcasm no if i'm super nice to you i probably don't like you oh really

02:20:00 - 02:20:00 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:20:00 - 02:20:07 | Speaker 3:

Okay. All right. Really? So wait a second. Are you saying that if you're not super nice to the person, you like them?

02:20:08 - 02:20:09 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:20:09 - 02:20:10 | Speaker 3:

I did not know that.

02:20:10 - 02:20:11 | Speaker 1:

We talk about this all the time.

02:20:12 - 02:20:45 | Speaker 3:

I never get that. That's interesting. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I want to ask that question. I want to ask you, just a yes or no. Just call us up right now. 10 call says it all or something. I don't know. And just tell me, if somebody touches you, if somebody touches like your face or grabs something off your face, is that kind of a flirty thing? Are they trying to flirt with you a little bit? Let's see here. Let me grab this line here. Mojo in the morning. Hello.

02:20:46 - 02:20:48 | Speaker 4:

Hello. This is Charles.

02:20:49 - 02:20:49 | Speaker 2:

Hi, Charles.

02:20:49 - 02:20:50 | Speaker 3:

Hi, Charles.

02:20:52 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 4:

So I was calling about the question that was asked.

02:20:56 - 02:20:56 | Speaker 3:

Yes, question.

02:20:56 - 02:20:58 | Speaker 4:

Because it's too far to touch somebody else.

02:20:59 - 02:21:11 | Speaker 3:

Charles, quick question for you. If a woman reaches over and touches your face by your mustache, do you think she wants to have sex with you? No.

02:21:13 - 02:21:13 | Speaker 4:

Not really.

02:21:13 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 3:

You don't think it's flirty?

02:21:17 - 02:21:19 | Speaker 4:

I mean, it really depends on how they grab.

02:21:20 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 3:

It was the pointer finger and the thumb. It was very sweet.

02:21:24 - 02:21:26 | Speaker 2:

She slowly starts humming.

02:21:27 - 02:21:34 | Speaker 3:

I don't know why that is. In my head, I'm thinking she's going to all of a sudden, like, push my hair back and all the rest of that stuff, too.

02:21:34 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 2:

It's just because that's what you want.

02:21:35 - 02:21:41 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know what? Some guys want to be touched every now and again, you know? It's like, all right. Right. Yeah.

02:21:42 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 4:

Because it doesn't happen like that.

02:21:43 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 3:

Charles, when's the last time that you were touched?

02:21:47 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 4:

Just recently, actually. Who was it? But it was actually a random stranger, but this was something on my back, not my mustache, so.

02:21:59 - 02:22:01 | Speaker 3:

Okay, what did you have on your back that they touched?

02:22:02 - 02:22:09 | Speaker 4:

This was actually, like, one of those little cotton things that are outside. Okay. How I don't know. Yeah. Yeah.

02:22:10 - 02:22:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and so they just randomly touched you.

02:22:13 - 02:22:16 | Speaker 2:

And then did they drag your hand all the way down your back to your butt? Like, what happened?

02:22:16 - 02:22:31 | Speaker 4:

no they actually just you know just it did feel weird because i'm like i turned around i'm like what the hell yeah so yep i mean it really just depends on how they touch you honestly yeah

02:22:31 - 02:22:51 | Speaker 3:

charles would like to be touched more often if there's anybody listening right now that knows charles please touch charles okay right right right charles you want to be touched more often, Charles? Thanks, buddy, for the call. I appreciate you. What is happening? Mo, what's going on, Mo? What's going on, Mojo?

02:22:51 - 02:22:52 | Speaker 5:

How y'all doing?

02:22:52 - 02:22:54 | Speaker 3:

Good, buddy. What are your thoughts? Is it flirty?

02:22:57 - 02:23:00 | Speaker 5:

Definitely flirty. Very flirty. I get a restraining order for you.

02:23:01 - 02:23:06 | Speaker 3:

Yes, restraining order against the bartender over at Little Caesars Arena who touched me.

02:23:07 - 02:23:14 | Speaker 5:

Of course. Yeah, I mean, personally, I would not want to be touched in the face like that, Ice Ranger especially.

02:23:14 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. But I was letting her pour my drinks for me, so I was fine with that.

02:23:18 - 02:23:20 | Speaker 2:

How did you respond, by the way?

02:23:20 - 02:23:37 | Speaker 3:

I was kind of, like, honestly shocked by it. And I was like, oh, this was interesting. And then I just go, thank you. I said, that was very kind of you. I think that was my response. I go, well, thank you so much. I would have walked around all day with a feather on my mustache. And it does look like a booger from afar. So it does, because it's kind of, like, white and stuff.

02:23:37 - 02:23:44 | Speaker 2:

That even would freak me out more than she thought it was a booger and a stranger was going to pull a booger from your mustache.

02:23:45 - 02:23:49 | Speaker 3:

By the way, that would be very erotic to have somebody pick my nose for me. What's up, Maureen? How are you?

02:23:50 - 02:23:51 | Speaker 1:

A nightmare. Good.

02:23:52 - 02:23:52 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

02:23:52 - 02:24:13 | Speaker 1:

I know it is sexual, but I do think that it is definitely not appropriate. Some people don't know how to keep, you know, I mean, some people don't know their boundaries. And so it might just be a personable thing from this woman, but it's definitely something that if, you know, someone did that to my husband, I'd be looking at her pretty, pretty well.

02:24:13 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Charles was not there with me at the time, but but that's interesting. What is what was the song that we used to sing when we were kids? No, no. That's where that's my no, no square or whatever the heck. What? Remember the no, no square song? No. Do you remember that, Maureen, at all?

02:24:27 - 02:24:35 | Speaker 1:

I don't remember that, but I always can relate to, you know, I have my space. Don't evade my space, you know?

02:24:35 - 02:24:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

02:24:36 - 02:24:37 | Speaker 1:

But an arm's reached.

02:24:38 - 02:24:39 | Speaker 3:

There was the no-no.

02:24:41 - 02:24:51 | Speaker 1:

No, no, don't touch me there. It's what I told my uncle, but he didn't seem to care. That's my secret little spot, and I don't want to share. No, no, don't touch me there.

02:24:51 - 02:25:06 | Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, that was not the version that I remember from school. But what's going on? How you doing, Courtney? How are you? How do you guys not? No, the no-no song. It's Stop. Don't Touch Me There. This is my no-no song. I have never heard that in my life.

02:25:06 - 02:25:07 | Speaker 1:

Exactly, Courtney.

02:25:07 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 3:

You've never heard of that? No.

02:25:09 - 02:25:13 | Speaker 1:

That's the song that they would teach you in middle school or whatever. Yeah.

02:25:13 - 02:25:30 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Well, I am, like, I'm very nice. I'm a very nice person. I'm touchy-feely. And my husband, like, in his line of work, like, he's got to schmooze a lot of people. If it's a female, it is what it is. But if I was with my husband and someone did that, I would put my hoops down and not be happy.

02:25:30 - 02:25:35 | Speaker 1:

You would open up a can of whoop ass on her. You would have effed her off, bitch, like Shannon says.

02:25:35 - 02:25:41 | Speaker 3:

I will eff you up, bitch. I can't say. I'm a mom of three. I can't say it like that. But I would be very upset.

02:25:41 - 02:25:46 | Speaker 1:

Okay. We love you, Courtney. Thanks for calling. Tiana, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:25:47 - 02:25:49 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. Good morning.

02:25:49 - 02:25:51 | Speaker 1:

Good morning. What's going on?

02:25:51 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 4:

Um, so it's definitely, she was definitely being flirty. We as women, I feel like every woman's love language is physical touch. There's no way I'm going to a random stranger and touching them, just like, rather if it's taking something off of them or what. I'm not walking up to no stranger and just touching them. And scrubbing them, yeah. So, you know exactly what she was doing. It was very intentional, what she was doing. And, yeah, she knew exactly what she was doing with that part.

02:26:22 - 02:26:31 | Speaker 1:

Thanks, Tiana, for calling in. I appreciate you for listening. Juanita? Yes, hello. What's going on, Juanita?

02:26:32 - 02:26:55 | Speaker 5:

Love you guys, first of all. Love you. We love you, too. Oh, I was one of them. I watched a show years ago, and there was a man on there with his new girlfriend, and he was on with an ex and the ex started crying but he wiped the tears off her face and I think that's something that you can't do that's what you can't touch

02:26:55 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 1:

that's very intimate yeah that's something you don't do yeah you can't wait

02:27:02 - 02:27:02 | Speaker 5:

no

02:27:02 - 02:27:08 | Speaker 1:

if you saw Juanita your man doing that to his ex you would probably cut his nuts off wouldn't you

02:27:08 - 02:27:15 | Speaker 5:

oh it would be done on sight it would say more The actions speak louder than words.

02:27:16 - 02:27:22 | Speaker 1:

Yep. That's a good one. And last but not least, Sydney, are you there, Sydney?

02:27:23 - 02:27:46 | Speaker 2:

Hi. First time, long time. But I work at one of the makeup stores in the mall, and I had a woman at the cash register, like, ask me, like, hey, can I touch you? And I was just like, um, yeah. and she like leaned over the counter and fixed my hair for me and I was just like I totally could

02:27:46 - 02:27:52 | Speaker 1:

have done that myself but thank you wow that that's interesting you think she meant anything

02:27:52 - 02:28:02 | Speaker 2:

by it or she really thought your hair was out of place I mean it was definitely out of place it was just very awkward and very vague I was like what are you gonna touch like what are you doing yeah

02:28:02 - 02:28:09 | Speaker 1:

it is kind of weird hey can I touch you Sephora lady or Alta lady whichever one uh yeah that's

02:28:09 - 02:28:15 | Speaker 6:

crazy oh that would give me the heebie jeebies i know oh by the way there should be like signs

02:28:15 - 02:28:21 | Speaker 1:

like don't touch the animals or something like that right have a great day we appreciate you

02:28:21 - 02:28:41 | Speaker 5:

if it's true that you are what you eat mojo must have been eating sexy beast this morning he's cheating another world famous war of the roses happens at 9 40 on mojo in the morning Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:28:42 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 6:

Last dirty of the day, Megan. Let's get it. No, keep going. We got 15 seconds. Really? We're never early to the dirty. I don't feel like we can be early to this dirty. What is wrong with us? I'm still stuck on your last dirty where you said Dollar Tree is up in prices, so. I'm just telling you. I'm lost. I'm about to riot in these streets. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Xavier Worthy. He's filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiance, Tia Jones, accusing her of fabricating domestic violence allegations for extortion. Worthy claims his ex-fiance destroyed his property, physically assaulted him, and filed a false protective order against him seeking over $250,000 in damages. Jones accuses him of repeated physical abuse over the past year leading to a protective order being granted against him. So this will be interesting how it all unfolds. I'll keep you, you know, in the loop on what happens next. Speaking of football, if you are somebody who's inclined to place a bet on where Aaron Rodgers is going to end up this upcoming season with options waning, the smart money would be on the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants off the table, one NFL insider is telling me that it's a safe bet that the deal between.

02:30:00 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 1:

the Steelers and Aaron Rodgers is imminent, especially when you consider last week's report that interest in having the future Hall of Famer in the broadcast booth is minimal at best. Shocking, because we all saw what happened when his documentary came out on Netflix. Did anybody but me watch that? I didn't see it. It was not worth it. Don't waste your time. You know, speaking of Aaron Rodgers, seems like the Emily in Paris star, Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabrielle on the show, has found a new partner in Aaron Rodgers' ex, Shailene Woodley. The two actors were spotted together in Paris on Sunday. Oh, must be nice. They were getting cozy together after Rodgers Woodley was, you know, to dinner last summer with a mystery man. But that apparently went nowhere as she and Bravo seemed to be into each other. They were holding hands. They were hugging, getting very close, but that man is incredibly hot, so good for her. All right, two Michigan residents are stuck in a Mexican jail over a timeshare dispute, and they've been incarcerated for three weeks now. Now, Lindsay Lemke's parents had a membership with Palace Resorts, which is a Florida company that owns a bunch of resorts and timeshares in Mexico. And Lindsay is saying that Palace Resorts breached their contract with her parents. It's said to be a dispute over $117,000, but that was over a year ago. The couple didn't realize there was still a problem, hadn't heard anything else. Her parents decided to go to Cancun, but were detained and arrested when their plane landed. They were being held on charges of criminal fraud. They were sent to jail. At the last hearing, it was determined that the palace resorts would be given six more months to gather evidence. So that means her parents will be jailed in Mexico for at least six more months. And currently, there is no trial date set. So it'll be interesting to see what happens there. Return of the Mac singer, Mark Morrison, was arrested for battery in Florida. Morrison reportedly started planning an event with La Barra Ville in Palm Beach on Friday, but returned Saturday evening very upset. He allegedly yelled and cursed at the venue's general manager, Nicola Lavica. And then the tension just rose from there. Witnesses told police that the singer pushed the manager's upper body. The witness noticed that the manager of the place did not fight back in this altercation. The situation escalated to the point where a witness jumped in to separate Morrison from the general manager and then told Morrison to step outside in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Police assessed the evidence and arrested Morrison on a charge of simple battery. Morrison's attorney is calling the heated altercation between the singer and the restaurant management a racially charged confrontation.

02:32:51 - 02:34:59 | Speaker 1:

The attorney says that Morrison is fully cooperating with authorities and is confident that the investigation will clear up the situation and vindicate him of any wrongdoing. Do we know how old he is? Mark Morrison? Yeah, why is he fighting people? I mean, if his racism doesn't die, neither does that doggy. Like Kevin Hart would say, dang. You know what I'm saying? He's 52. Damn. God damn. He's still old enough to whoop some ass. Lizzo is getting into the movie business. She is set to play rock and roll icon sister Rosetta Thorpe in the new biopic. Biopic or biopic? What are we? I like biopic. I like biopic better, too. She always says biopic, and I'm like, ugh, no. Rosetta, new, uh, so she's not just content with acting. Lizzo is also going to be one of the producers for the movie as well. If you don't know, Tharp was a guitarist and a singer. Big influence on rockers like Elvis, Little Richard, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan. This movie is going to follow her career, her love life as a queer woman, and her heterosexual marriage to her manager, Russell Morrison. They actually got married in front of 25,000 paying fans in Washington, which I think is iconic. Iconique. And one last update I'll give you. Seth Rogen's got a new Apple TV series that I am super stoked to watch. It's called The Studio, and it's going to have a bunch of A-list cameos in every episode. Now we know who some of them are going to be. One of our favorite TikTokers is going to be appearing as a guest star, Charlie D'Amelio. No word just yet on what a role is going to be, but the show stars Seth Rogen, Catherine Hahn, Catherine O'Hara, so we know it's going to be absolutely hysterical. Who are we going to be seeing as a recurring guest star? Well, keep your eyes peeled for Bryan Cranston. and he's going to be on a bunch of episodes. The show is going to drop the first two episodes on Apple TV Plus tomorrow. Check out all of today's Dirty by listening to our podcast. 02:38:36 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 2:

This is Mojo in the Morning.

02:40:30 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 2:

mojo in the morning never have we had a war of the roses where people were saying that they're so angry they wanted to physically hurt someone and this someone is the husband in this case is someone is uh uh ryan in this case um it's mojo in the morning show where the roses marlene

02:40:57 - 02:41:45 | Speaker 5:

comment from you what's happening good good morning i have a couple things to say first off i've only placed hands on a handful of men in my lifetime i'm ready for this man to be starting on my other hand okay all right so he's got my blood boiling and baby girl you are beautiful no matter what size far i am i help a dear friend of mine run a community for big girls and you will be appreciated you look me up on facebook marlene k i do security for the group i love that and i will get you where you need to be where you need to be appreciated and love for who you are my ex-husband used to try to do that talking about you're gonna miss me when i'm gone or what bye

02:41:45 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 1:

yeah what is it what is the mindset i guess just so i fully understand what is the mindset to stay Like, why stay? Why not go as soon as you hear that?

02:41:54 - 02:42:11 | Speaker 5:

When you're a bigger girl and you're with somebody, if you try to lose weight, they're like, oh, you're just trying to lose weight because you want to leave me. And they make you feel like nobody else will want you. And they break your mental state down to the point where you feel like you're not good enough for anybody else.

02:42:11 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 3:

We also don't know the financial control that he might be extending over. Guys are really notorious for when they know a girl is leaving and they're in abusive situations. for love bombing or getting their families involved to say you know it was just a mistake it was just one time you don't know if they've got kids together um that was one of the most shocking things i learned when starting to work with a women's shelter is the recidivism i can do this it's a big word it's i got a recidivism rate for women to go um back to the situation yeah

02:42:42 - 02:43:01 | Speaker 2:

i uh marlene i appreciate you i know that we've talked before and i love that you uh continue to give good comments and good thoughts to to those that need them and uh my name is marlene k on facebook i'm serious okay we'll look at we're looking around and follower uh dina what's going

02:43:01 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 4:

on it's mojo in the morning hi hey mojo hey um i just i just wanted to say that first of all he is very verbally abusive if not physically and it will definitely get physical before she can before she can get out if she does not get out now my ex is in prison and it started off verbal just like that oh you're fat you're this you're that and the other eventually he literally tried to take my life so um as far as staying um i do agree with marlene but also um it's it's really a mental thing and and as a woman that's been in a domestic violence situation um they break you down they they make you feel like nobody else to want you which is that's what he's doing right now through this woman but you have to be stronger than that and when his words stopped hurting me is when he started using his hands because i was like you're not gonna talk to me like this i don't care so somebody's gonna love me yeah and i i do hope to get out of that situation great great for

02:44:01 - 02:44:10 | Speaker 6:

you if you don't mind me asking how did you get out of the situation did you get out before you You went to prison or after? No, so I was a whole...

02:44:10 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 4:

Oh, gosh, I'm ready.

02:44:13 - 02:44:15 | Speaker 2:

Maybe he should come back. You there? You were what?

02:44:18 - 02:44:21 | Speaker 4:

He arrested for trying to kill me. Can you start again?

02:44:22 - 02:44:24 | Speaker 2:

How did you get out of the situation? Say it one more time.

02:44:25 - 02:44:56 | Speaker 4:

Here, I'm sorry. Let me take you off the speakerphone. Let me take you off the mind. I'm already in jail. Like, he went to jail for a different charge. Okay. And when he got out, I went and drove to go pick him up after a year. And within 24 hours, he was already putting his hands on me. He had held me hostage at my apartment and wouldn't let me out. And I had to call Melvindale police to come and get him. It was a whole saga. But he's in jail for 15 years right now, so.

02:44:57 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I'm so glad you're here. And that's where he belongs. Yeah.

02:45:00 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 1:

Absolutely.

02:45:01 - 02:45:32 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. Thank you for calling. I appreciate it. Skip, let's skip. Let me skip a couple calls here, and I'll come back to them. But let me go to Becca, because Becca, are you there? Becca. Seven. Hey, Becca. Hi. Becca, the other thing that he would do is he would play mind games, this guy. And I'll tell you what happened when we called him back just after we did this call. but um you had a guy that would do that you you had a guy that would do the whole threatening to

02:45:32 - 02:45:54 | Speaker 1:

leave you or cheat on you yep anytime i was insecure or would question the shady things he would do um he would say okay well if you think i'm doing it then i'm just gonna go ahead and do it so she needs to she did you ever find out if he did it did he did he ever do it um i I have some strong suspicions that he did it.

02:45:55 - 02:46:13 | Speaker 4:

And I wonder what the reasoning is when they do this. Like, I believe this. The reason why I thought this was one that we definitely should have made a call to. I think the guy's already cheating. I think he's already got somebody else. And I think that when.

02:46:13 - 02:46:14 | Speaker 1:

He didn't cheat to get out of that relationship.

02:46:15 - 02:46:33 | Speaker 4:

And it's kind of like the guys who project upon you that you're the cheater. Oh, you're cheating on me. I know you're cheating on me. I think those guys are also probably with somebody else. Thank you for the call. Go back to Nathan. Let's get a guy's perspective on this one. Nathan, what's going on? How you doing?

02:46:34 - 02:46:35 | Speaker 2:

Good.

02:46:35 - 02:46:40 | Speaker 4:

How are you guys? Good. You're hearing this stuff, man. Doesn't it make you just sad for men?

02:46:42 - 02:47:25 | Speaker 2:

It makes me sick to my stomach. I work in health care. I've called in the past. This is the first sign of abuse. You need to get out. I cannot stress to the amount of women I see where their husbands take control. It starts off with they start to withdraw. Then they get verbally abusive, and the next thing, it starts with the physical. She needs to get out as fast as she can. If you're worried about the financial side or the housing side, you can always come get my contact. You can always come live with me and my wife. We're more than willing to take you under our roof. You need to get out of that relationship as fast as you can. And he is a piece of, you know, I can't say it on the radio, but that is, I can never imagine talking to my wife, let alone any female in that manner.

02:47:25 - 02:47:58 | Speaker 4:

We, by the way, set Lisa up with an organization that she is right now talking to. And we're hoping that we'll get some people on from that organization to give us more details on what to do in a situation like this. But we wanted to make sure that she was okay first. Terrence, what did you think about this, Terrence, listening to The War of the Roses? And if you missed it, it's up. You can listen to the podcast of it, the possible cheater that got very verbally abusive with Shannon. What's going on?

02:47:59 - 02:48:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was just saying to the lady, that was very way out of line, man.

02:48:05 - 02:48:07 | Speaker 4:

Thank you. All right. Yes, sir.

02:48:07 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 3:

She don't deserve to be married.

02:48:10 - 02:48:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. No, you know what's funny? is that his verbal abuse is worse than if he's cheating on her.

02:48:20 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 3:

Oh, absolutely. I was just about to ask that. I said, is that worse than being cheated on?

02:48:25 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 4:

I would say so. I mean, who wants to put up with that?

02:48:31 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 3:

I'm saying, man, that I can't find love the first, you know, and this guy's talking to this woman like they didn't even start talking to your coworker like that. Man, come on now. You need to crawl in a hole somewhere and live like a mole.

02:48:43 - 02:48:56 | Speaker 4:

I've never heard that It's Kool-Aid Man It's Kool-Aid Man I like that By the way, I can't believe you don't have a lady in your life You sound like you got away with words

02:48:56 - 02:49:06 | Speaker 3:

Well, you know I'm just, I'm trying to reestablish Myself before I even Find love again, man Take care of yourself It's one of those things

02:49:06 - 02:49:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you for going on with us We appreciate you, buddy all right hold on one second uh so so after the call was made which by the way shannon after the call was made what the heck it was like you just got done doing like five hours on a treadmill you you were so worked up on that one yeah um we called him back to try to see if we could you know get a calm down version of him he doesn't calm down let's just put it that way And that audio, we were told, could not be played. So we will have more on this War of the Roses. Stick around. Stay with us. We are going to be doing War of the Roses update shows. That's something new for this year that we really are getting into. And it's by your demand, our listeners, that since we started doing War of the Roses,

02:50:00 - 02:50:27 | Speaker 3:

twice a week, this past, you know, in 2023, in 2024, update calls too. I love that as an idea. I don't know how you guys feel about it, but so many people, they come up to you and they always ask you what's going on with this couple. And we have some people that want to be updated and those people will make it to the air. And then we got some people that are like, we never want to even be heard from ever again because it was so embarrassing after they heard themselves on the radio. This is the home of War of the Roses.

02:50:27 - 02:50:29 | Speaker 4:

I absolutely love it.

02:50:29 - 02:50:47 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning. This is Mojo in the Morning live. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon's getting called out for what she calls her kids. And this is interesting that I always say it ain't nobody's business.

02:50:47 - 02:52:24 | Speaker 2:

That's kind of what I say too. And I don't know why this is bothering me as much as it is. And I think it's because people are, I feel like it's a knock. on me. And I think that's where it's, it's like really just like digging at me. So I, um, posted whenever I post on social media about, um, my stepkids, Sam and Kieran who are in high school and it was Kieran's birthday last week. And so I did like a big birthday post for him. And anytime I post and refer to them as my stepkids, every single time people will comment bonus kids, bonus kids, bonus kids. Don't call them your stepkids. It's so rude. And I'm like, we hate the phrase bonus kids. We just don't use it. We don't care for it. And for a bunch of different reasons. But every time it never fails, somebody is commenting that or DMing. and to me it's like i love them so freaking much it's not a knock um i grew up with a stepmom and a stepdad and step siblings and that's just what we called them and i feel like if you shift the perspective i'm like i don't tell your kids to call you mama instead of mom or i don't call jacob joey and i i don't tell them to call you pops instead of dad a-hole so why is it that people feel the need to be like it should be bonus kids i'm like we don't like you know why

02:52:24 - 02:52:45 | Speaker 3:

because this world is full of a bunch of people who are angry at life and they just that everybody's got like to have to have a say you know what happened the problem was once we started putting stuff on social media everybody had their own say like back in the day you didn't have your say right you only had to say verbally and nobody would ever just run and randomly say don't call your

02:52:45 - 02:53:04 | Speaker 2:

kids special name i love them just the same even though i don't call them that it's just like i want to scream and one guy in particular laid into me every single post i finally was like be blocked and be blessed because you are driving me crazy with this i think obviously you gotta do

02:53:04 - 02:53:17 | Speaker 4:

what's best for you i think oftentimes people have their own relationship with certain words and their relationship with the word step is different than your relationship is. You know what I mean?

02:53:17 - 02:53:25 | Speaker 2:

So Wes and I had a really long conversation in the car about this yesterday and he said the same thing to me about that. And I think that's what it is.

02:53:25 - 02:54:05 | Speaker 4:

Like I've been in situations, so Sherelle calls Josiah a bonus baby and I don't have an affinity either direction. Like I don't care as long as the love is where it needs to be. You can call him whatever you want. Even a-hole like Mojo. um but i was in a situation where i was very uncomfortable because not the word that was used but the way the father introduced all of his children and then he introduced all of his biological children first and then at the end he was like oh and this is my stepdaughter and the way that that happened it wasn't even the word but the energy behind it the separation is maybe what I think maybe people are feeling when they hear stuff.

02:54:06 - 02:54:24 | Speaker 2:

And if you're with me, and all of you guys have met them, like when I'm introducing them to people, I'm like, this is our senior, Kieran. This is our sophomore, Samantha. This is Lucy. She's now in fifth grade. This is our first grader. Like, it's just, I don't know. I don't know why it has become such a thing lately.

02:54:24 - 02:54:41 | Speaker 1:

And I think people aren't realizing you're very new to blending your family, and these are older kids. Like, to call them, to include them in a way that maybe makes them uncomfortable, too, like, is so rude. Yeah. To call them, like, my bone is still done. I love it. They're like, wow. That sounds so stupid. That's so overbearing, too. Yeah.

02:54:42 - 02:54:47 | Speaker 2:

Which, for Sorrel, that's, like, a thing with her and Josiah. Love that. Yeah. I would never say, ooh, why do you do that?

02:54:47 - 02:54:49 | Speaker 3:

Can I say this, though? Why not just call them your kids?

02:54:49 - 02:54:50 | Speaker 2:

But I think there's a difference.

02:54:50 - 02:54:54 | Speaker 3:

Can you just call them your kids? Would your kids be offended if you said these are my kids?

02:54:54 - 02:54:59 | Speaker 2:

So, this was part of the discussion yesterday. They, like, I have four kids. in the post

02:55:00 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 5:

Yes, I could have just written, like, happy birthday to my son. If I'm being super, super honest and love them to pieces, this is still very new to me.

02:55:07 - 02:55:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:55:07 - 02:55:14 | Speaker 5:

And I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet. When people ask me how many kids I have, I say I have four kids.

02:55:14 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 1:

That's great.

02:55:15 - 02:55:24 | Speaker 5:

But it is a process, and this is no disrespect to them, no disrespect to Wes, but it is a process.

02:55:24 - 02:55:39 | Speaker 1:

Do you think it's also that you want to be respectful, too, of their mom so that she doesn't feel like... very much you guys have a great relationship i know so yes i truly truly love their mom and yeah i do want because you said that you have a stepmom i do did you i've never called her mom what did

02:55:39 - 02:55:56 | Speaker 5:

she call you though and did you have a preference um that's a really interesting question i don't know that i've ever heard her like refer to me i mean how old were you when they got together elementary school okay yeah but i've never referred to her as mom and i love her so damn much but i

02:55:56 - 02:56:18 | Speaker 1:

like i have a mom yeah you know that's how i was with my dad's wife i always called her my this is my dad's wife and she actually said to me initially she goes i'm never gonna be your mom because you had a great mom similar to what you say you have you have a mom and um so she took the reins on that but when we had kids she was grandma sue so it's funny because all of the grandmas like when

02:56:18 - 02:56:24 | Speaker 5:

i am referring to them and the kids are around are nama joanne and nama chris like everybody's

02:56:24 - 02:56:31 | Speaker 1:

just nama yeah i call grandma carlos uh shannon wants you uh to not call her also stepmother

02:56:31 - 02:56:38 | Speaker 5:

that's a step monster no yeah well my kids call me momster momster so it would go what's up carlos

02:56:38 - 02:57:04 | Speaker 2:

yeah i wanted to say you know but shannon you can never please 100 of the people 100 of the time but what matters is in your household as long as you guys agree what you want that's all that matters everyone always going to have an opinion and you can't uh move your life based on what what the public is going to say yeah someone's always going to be unhappy someone's always going

02:57:04 - 02:58:08 | Speaker 1:

to have an opinion i bet you if she went back and looked at the person that wrote that post i would bet you a million dollars that person has also written a negative post on some other pictures and stuff because i feel i feel like the people the same people that post that are the same people that because I can see people text me all the time here 95500 and we can see their text messages if somebody will write like a negative post on there I can click on sometimes and see what previous posts were and it's typically a string of negative stuff which honestly I I find I find to be loved like I know you say be blocked and be blessed I will only block anybody from anything on social media if they are you know racially or anti-semitic or you know uh anti whatever it is you know if they're if they're a hater but if they're hating on me personally or something i just like go you know what i'm giving them their their joy in life because i feel like these people are just negative human beings i feel bad for them no i and i agree with you and i'm trying to

02:58:08 - 02:58:20 | Speaker 5:

you know have that perspective too i think though like i said at the beginning it feels like a knock on my relationship with them or my love for them and that's where i get like super protective and

02:58:20 - 02:58:25 | Speaker 1:

i'm like but that's not it like that's you posted you posted on friday right it was friday's birthday

02:58:25 - 02:58:33 | Speaker 5:

for uh um your step your stepchild bonus baby yes not friday it was thursday no thursday

02:58:33 - 02:58:54 | Speaker 1:

and i and i saw it i thought it was so it's such a sweet post and honestly it's it's wild because i there was no social media when i was a kid and my dad got married but i always i looked at it i I go, you know, that would have made me feel great if there were, you know, I did get many happy birthdays from my dad's wife. But that was such a cool thing. What's up, Jacqueline?

02:58:55 - 02:59:38 | Speaker 4:

Hi, good morning. I just wanted to say that I think that it's respectful for you to call her or them your stepchildren. My ex-husband just got married last year, I think, and his new wife refers to me as Jacqueline when she's talking to my daughter. She'll be like, have you talked to Jacqueline today? And I only realized that because I went through her phone, my daughter's phone, and I noticed she's calling me by my first name, and I'm like, absolutely not. Like, that's so disrespectful, but she's been like that for a little bit. Once I got married, it got a little bit, actually, it's gotten way worse. But I think that it just proves how respectful you are, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

02:59:39 - 02:59:41 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. What's going on, Samantha?

02:59:42 - 02:59:43 | Speaker 3:

Hi.

02:59:43 - 02:59:44 | Speaker 1:

What's up?

02:59:44 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm a stepmom, and I was a stepchild. Like, I had a stepmom myself. And so I don't think that Shannon's doing anything wrong. I think she's being very respectful. I do understand why people don't like that word, but at the end of the day, that's... their own personal problems i think shannon's being very respectful of her stepchildren and their um biological mother and i completely respect that and i think she's doing an awesome

03:00:12 - 03:00:32 | Speaker 5:

job very nice of you samantha thank you uh marine marnie marnie oh marnie i i've hello marnie sorry about that marnie he does it to everybody don't worry i do it all the marnies For some reason, I look up there, and it looks like it says Marine. I don't know. I don't know why I wouldn't say Marnie, but go ahead.

03:00:34 - 03:01:39 | Speaker 4:

So not only am I married in an interracial, but it's also an interreligious family, and I have three stepkids, five-step grandchildren, and when I introduce them, I introduce them all as my children, and when they introduce me, they do introduce me as mom, and when they first started that, I really did fight against it, But my husband had to explain to me, it's out of a sign of respect. How long have you been involved with this family? We've been together 21 years. How long did it take you to get to that point? When they first started doing it, we were probably dating about a year. And I was just like, and I talked to him about, he goes, it's a sign of respect. So I had to get comfortable with that. But, you know, I can tell you, they're all beautiful. When they introduce us, they even introduced my daughter. This is my little sister. That's beautiful. So hopefully that happens to your blended family. Yeah.

03:01:39 - 03:02:15 | Speaker 5:

That's great. A lot of people can see that. I don't know. There's not one person here saying bonus or any of that stuff. They're all saying, you know what? You call them what you want to call them. Except for a couple of things because they are, some of them are, you know, they're teenagers and teenagers can you by the way can you call your kids uh a-holes but not his kids a-holes because do you worry that if you say god he's being such an a-hole like that wes will be uh yeah i don't i wouldn't say that no no warm up to it you'll warm up to it what's up greg how you doing hey mojo how y'all doing this morning we're all doing great what's going on good you

03:02:15 - 03:02:36 | Speaker 7:

know what i don't it doesn't matter how you you work your family you know you're always somebody's going to complain i uh i have four kids and my oldest is technically my stepdaughter and when i introduce them i just introduce them to all my kids and then when people find out the age gap and how old i am they they try to figure out why and then have to explain it's my stepdaughter and they're like well why didn't you say it's your stepdaughter it's like well you know that's not

03:02:36 - 03:02:49 | Speaker 5:

how we roll in our family isn't that funny by the way by the way that's always when the age difference is kind of wild that is that is an interesting one and then when they don't look like each other that's the only one too where people are like what the hell that's the funny

03:02:49 - 03:03:02 | Speaker 7:

thing is because my my non-biological daughter is the only one that kind of looks like me yeah like when i when i say you know she's you know only 10 years younger than her 12 i'm sorry i was 16 technically when i had her if she wasn't a biological people are like well how'd that work

03:03:02 - 03:03:13 | Speaker 5:

it's like well it didn't you should come up with a great story with with her as a accompaniment on that one so i used to go to social studies class with him or something like that like when he had

03:03:13 - 03:03:26 | Speaker 6:

me as a kid see that's the wild part everybody shannon i know i know the wild part about it is People trying to do the math in their mind and trying to figure out your life and have all of these questions based on their curiosity when it's none of your damn business in the first place.

03:03:27 - 03:03:37 | Speaker 2:

I agree, but sometimes my brain just, like, wants to do the math and then I feel dumb because I can't do it quickly. And it's not judgment on you. It's judgment on how did I get to this point in life, not knowing simple math.

03:03:39 - 03:03:45 | Speaker 1:

How happy does it make me to listen to Mojo in the morning? I'd say happier than Shannon checking out a naked pic of Ryan Gosling.

03:03:45 - 03:03:47 | Speaker 6:

Channel 955.

03:03:49 - 03:03:51 | Speaker 1:

Back to Mojo in the Morning.

03:03:52 - 03:04:01 | Speaker 5:

All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Kevin, you have to explain this to me because I hear people say this all the time. What is imposter syndrome?

03:04:02 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 6:

I'm sure there is a definition out there that we can Google and figure out. But I think it's like a fear, a doubt or like an insecurity that wherever you are, you're not meant to be there or you're not good enough to be there. OK. And you're realizing this either in the moment. And a friend of mine named Kyle, big shout out to Kyle. He's the the director of a very cool organization that's all about teaching kids how to become leaders, especially kids from inner city communities. and uh it's called the central detroit christian development center and kyle asked me to be on the board wow exactly oh my god that's huge super huge so immediately i was grateful for the opportunity to be on the board even to be considered in because kyle is my friend and he's one of the greatest guys i know he actually mojo you met kyle he prayed at our gender reveal oh yes um so kyle's incredible so i'm like yeah for sure and of course i want to help my

03:05:00 - 03:06:20 | Speaker 2:

So when I get to our first board meeting on Saturday and I'm looking at not the run of show, but like I'm looking at the itinerary and really understanding what it means to be a board member and how we're having this strategic planning meeting about the future of this organization and how it's going to impact the community. I'm sitting in a chair and I'm like, yeah, what can I offer to this conversation? like what in my background what of my qualifications what in my history what am i about to offer to this conversation what value am i am i providing why am i in this seat and i snapped out of it for about the first five minutes after we're going around the room and we're having those introductions and everybody's saying like hey i'm john smith and i'm the lead of da da da da hey i'm mary katherine and i do the da da da i'm like yeah i'm kev i'm in sports entertainment like you know what mean like I'm still me but at the same time I'm sitting there and literally we are deciding the future of this organization that's like impacting people and I'm like damn like hearts start beating fast start looking around like man do I belong here and I haven't had many of those moments in my life um I can appreciate it because I know that I'm not operating just fully off of who I am I know there's a higher higher power guiding me and that's what I had to tap into to get beyond it but

03:06:20 - 03:07:16 | Speaker 1:

that imposter syndrome is is real god of all it's so funny to hear you say that and i i understand that um because i think that regardless of anybody else's title around that table when you guys were sitting there going through that agenda you were the one that was supposed to be there because i feel like it's not about i'm the ceo or i'm the president of this company it's about your heart and your compassion for what that organization is doing and that is you like i feel like you are always all in you dive in like sometimes when you speak and I'm not just talking about on the air but I'm talking about off the air about stuff I'm just like I feel like I just went to church like it's your message is so good and it's because of who you are and the life that you've led up until now and so I think but you're that is that is imposter syndrome you think you shouldn't be there but you very much are qualified to be there yeah I noticed I noticed when you said that what

03:07:16 - 03:07:22 | Speaker 3:

your title is that you do sports entertainment why do you're you're also a major uh media

03:07:22 - 03:08:24 | Speaker 2:

personality well i mean that's that's the entertainment part okay i feel like it's a shorter way to tell you what i do and if you really want to find out then you'll ask what does that mean and we can go into detail but to be like i host this and i'm on the mojo in the morning it just seemed like it should take too long but shannon brought up a great word that word qualify and this is why i say it took me a minute to because sometimes we got to remember who we are and where our foot and where our feet stand. And what I mean by that is we're, we should be powered by purpose. And the reason why you said qualify, I was on the phone with my sister and I told her this, she was like, she got into some things. And I remember a pastor said, God doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called. And when you remember that you are called for something, it doesn't matter what the, the, the rule books are, or it doesn't matter what the qualifications are under the sheet that says what the job description is i've called you so you already qualified and that's what i had to remember but prior to that when i wasn't thinking with my i was thinking with my mind and not like my higher mind it made me feel like man you are you shouldn't be here when you absolutely

03:08:24 - 03:08:30 | Speaker 1:

what you said exactly what you just said you say that to any of the kids life-changing and that's

03:08:30 - 03:09:52 | Speaker 3:

why you're there well and i and i often think i think sometimes that we try to get people that are what we call qualified but they're not because they can't relate and i think that relating to these kids is going to make you even more qualified your story qualifies you for this more so than even what you do because you've had a you got a great story you know you you uh you're going to add so much more positive to that uh that organization based on how you were raised and how you were able to rise above what uh you know particular situation could have happened to you you know what i mean like i think kevin you're uh more than qualified for that matter of fact i think you're overqualified do they pay give you a raise no what is it's volunteering right you're volunteering for this whole thing yeah so i think and your friend knows you best right so did you tell did you tell him that you felt like you were an imposter i didn't i didn't so he's learning that right now yeah no it's i i guys i sit there and i think that sometimes like i that's that's amazing that uh your story is like shannon says a story that i think so many people can hear you tell your personal you know childhood and then what you're doing now and how you don't ever try to make excuses for anything and i i would say that you should be talking to more kids about

03:09:52 - 03:09:57 | Speaker 2:

that. Have y'all ever felt this in any instance of your life? I feel

03:09:57 - 03:09:59 | Speaker 3:

overqualified for everything.

03:10:00 - 03:10:11 | Speaker 5:

i feel like you know my qualification no i yeah absolutely every every day we come into the show i feel like we're not prepared enough to go on the radio and fill four hours you know i think

03:10:11 - 03:10:17 | Speaker 4:

every mom feels that way oh every day i wake up i'm like i don't know what i'm doing yeah i bet

03:10:17 - 03:10:26 | Speaker 5:

that's because that's the biggest responsibility of your life jannon yeah what's what's up amanda how you doing it's mojo in the morning thank you for calling the show what's going on

03:10:26 - 03:11:00 | Speaker 2:

hey good morning morning morning it's so nice to hear the passion and kev's voice when he talks about you know these different organizations that he's a part of to hear how driven he is to make an impact and it's really nice to know that not only is he a you know radio personality but he also does want to see what he can do for the future youth and to see how he can impact them can make things better you know with his experiences i appreciate that he is more than

03:11:00 - 03:11:45 | Speaker 5:

just a pretty face that's right and a guy it's funny because i feel like kevin the last couple of topics that he's done has gone you know he's talking about you know girls and all the rest of and you'll see like the the the people that will text in and they'll go kevin you like they're all like preaching to you like you need to get on this and it's like kevin you're probably the most rounded out of all of us because you're the most real like you tell you you we're we're majority of times we don't say the things that we want to say kevin says them and it's great that's what i love so much about him on the air jennifer what's up uh grab uh line two or three or whatever jennifer's on jennifer i can't count what's going on hi good morning guys um not to get too

03:11:45 - 03:12:16 | Speaker 1:

spiritual but i wanted to remind kevin that he had mentioned um getting into his higher frame of mind that's when you press in, Kevin, you're faithful. You know, press in. That's what your gut is telling you. Don't you ever doubt yourself. You have been called and God has put you right where you are. You are touching people. You don't even know it. And when you feel yourself, that's just the devil in your ear. Not today. Not today. You are there. You're God, you're God's child. And you know that. So press into that. Let that be the moment where you're like, yup, this is where my

03:12:16 - 03:12:30 | Speaker 5:

treat comes into play you got this that's right jennifer jennifer don't ever apologize for you know when you want to try to say something that is is going to make another person's life better because i feel like on this show you have your freedom to speak your mind whatever you want to

03:12:30 - 03:12:38 | Speaker 1:

say well thanks mojo i appreciate that jennifer uh texter have a great day texter here i'm a school

03:12:38 - 03:12:54 | Speaker 5:

teacher that can't talk so i'm walking into school but every day i try to mold kids lives and every day I feel like I'm an imposter until the end of the day when I see these kids walking out with smiles on their face and they just learn something. That's a cool text that came in. Alicia, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How are

03:12:54 - 03:12:56 | Speaker 3:

you? Good morning.

03:12:56 - 03:13:00 | Speaker 5:

How are you? You sound like you had a cold or something. Are you okay? Yeah,

03:13:00 - 03:13:07 | Speaker 3:

actually, I had influenza A. I had strep throat and sinus infection last week. Wow, triple threat.

03:13:08 - 03:13:09 | Speaker 5:

We hope you're feeling better. Yes.

03:13:10 - 03:13:57 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you. I did text in, and I love listening to Kev. I have two mixed kids, and I raise them by myself. I love my children very much. I do not know very much culture behind their other half, but I love listening to him. My kids love listening to him, and your mind, the way you think, the way you break things down, it intrigues me. And I literally tell my children this every day when he has something so smart and makes me think every single morning. And I love it. And you are very more than qualified for the youth. And it is heartwarming. So thank you and keep up the good work.

03:13:57 - 03:14:05 | Speaker 5:

Truly appreciate that. Thank you. Alicia, is their dad not in their lives? Or did you adopt? And their mom's also not in their lives? What is it?

03:14:06 - 03:14:19 | Speaker 3:

No. um they they have their father they have taken care of them for 16 years with me but they are biological dad they do not talk to no okay all right well you know that's uh that's wonderful

03:14:19 - 03:14:39 | Speaker 5:

that uh that you call and and you use our show as a way to uh uh to have them in feel free if you ever want to come in studio and meet everybody okay oh my god that would be great my kids would love that too we'll teach we'll teach them a few things believe me they'll learn more dirty language

03:14:39 - 03:14:46 | Speaker 3:

What's going on? Am I right? You're a social worker?

03:15:03 - 03:15:24 | Speaker 3:

Yep. High school social worker. And there are days when I walk in saying, like, what's the point? Because I have nothing left to give. But then I heard what Kev said about God doesn't call the qualified. He qualifies the called. And I was like, you know what? I do. I have a lot to give.

03:15:25 - 03:15:26 | Speaker 2:

So, Kev, thank you.

03:15:27 - 03:15:31 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I appreciate it. Because these high schoolers are wild. They're wild.

03:15:34 - 03:15:35 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that awesome, though?

03:15:36 - 03:15:43 | Speaker 3:

I love them like they're my own. They are my own. I don't call them my students or my kids. I love them, but they're wild.

03:15:45 - 03:15:55 | Speaker 2:

See, you're just like me, man. Sometimes we don't understand why we're there, and that's the thing we don't need to understand. We're there for a purpose, and that's all we need to attach ourselves to.

03:15:56 - 03:16:06 | Speaker 3:

Kev, you and I are going to be like on a board. We're going to be running something someday. Let's go. I got to go. I got to go. I got to go. I got to go talk to these kids. I got to go.

03:16:06 - 03:16:09 | Speaker 5:

I love you. Thank you. Love you. Thank you. Take care of yourself.

03:16:10 - 03:16:15 | Speaker 6:
