Let's do it. It is time now for our Mojo in the Morning show patented Early Morning Stoners Club. The club has come to order. Hold on, I need my gavel. My gavel, by the way, should be like a bong. We're coming to order here now, guys, and we are asking you all to shout each other out. Shout out your strength. Yeah, tell us who's waking up this morning and having some fun. Let's go to Brandon first. What's up, Brandon?

00:04:05 - 00:04:09 | Speaker 7:

Hey, first time, long time. Hey, Brandon on the phone.

00:04:09 - 00:04:15 | Speaker 8:

We finally had a topic that fits you. Small sound effects. What's going on, buddy?

00:04:16 - 00:04:30 | Speaker 7:

Not too much. You know, last night I had to re-up, grabbed a new cart, and accidentally grabbed the old Indica sleepiness. So wrong thing to hit in the morning, but, you know, we're still going to go to work. We're still going to have a good time.

00:04:30 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 8:

What kind of work do you do?

00:04:33 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 7:

I'm just a customer service rep. I sell vinyl for boats, basically. Okay.

00:04:41 - 00:04:42 | Speaker 8:

It's going to be a great day.

00:04:42 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 5:

You're fine.

00:04:43 - 00:04:57 | Speaker 8:

Let me tell you about the vinyl for Boats. Excuse me, I think the man fell asleep. This is perfect. Buzz is on the phone with us right now. Buzz, hi. Hey, how are you doing? Good, buddy. Welcome to the early morning smokers, stoners club. What's going on?

00:04:58 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 7:

I was just sitting here going to work.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 2:

We're smoking on some glue.

00:05:01 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 6:

Some glue. Shannon's looking here going, I don't know what that means.

00:05:06 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 1:

I don't. I'm just trying to pretend I'm cool. Like nodding.

00:05:11 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that sounds cool.

00:05:12 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 1:

I love glue.

00:05:14 - 00:05:15 | Unknown:

Yeah, I love glue.

00:05:17 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 6:

Buzz, what do you do for a living, my friend?

00:05:20 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 2:

Right now, I'm working on BMW mechanics.

00:05:23 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

00:05:23 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 3:

00:06:13 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 4:

00:06:21 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 8:

Oh, thank you. Good morning. Good morning.

00:06:24 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 6:

What's going on? We already smoking?

00:06:26 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yes. I'm old-fashioned. I need to roll a joint. Nice-fashioned doobie, and a doobie a day keeps the flower away.

00:06:34 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 6:

I like how you told Lydia that you are a medicated mama.

00:06:39 - 00:06:41 | Speaker 8:

Oh, yes, and proud of it.

00:06:41 - 00:06:48 | Speaker 6:

Love it. Thank you for listening to the show. Let's go to Eugene next. Hello, Eugene. Welcome to the club. How are you, buddy?

00:06:49 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 7:

Good morning, everyone. Good morning.

00:06:51 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 6:

What's happening?

00:06:54 - 00:06:57 | Speaker 7:

Just giving a shout-out to the stoners in the morning. You know how it goes.

00:06:57 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 6:

Well, not really, because I couldn't do it this early in the morning. I told you that I literally cried last time I tried, but what's happening?

00:07:07 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 7:

I drive an hour to work, and every day I smoke on my drive. Okay.

00:07:12 - 00:07:16 | Speaker 6:

Can you tell me where you drive so I can stay off that road? You're not on the lodge, are you?

00:07:17 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 7:

No, no. I-75. All right.

00:07:20 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 6:

I-75, shout out to I-75 traffic right now. Well, thank you for the call. Appreciate it, Eugene. Let's go to Fate Angel is on with us right now. Is that your name? Yes. What's going on, Fate Angel?

00:07:36 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 7:

I have been smoking since I've been seven, and I smoke from the time I get up to the time I go to bed.

00:07:41 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 1:

Wait, since you were seven?

00:07:44 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, my mom and dad gave it to me for ADHD. Okay. Instead of Ridley. Oh, it's not a lie. I'm dead serious. Since I was seven, they gave me two blunts, a lighter, a colored book, and crayons and told me, leave me alone.

00:08:00 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God. Parents of the year. Oh, God. I'm going to be honest. I feel like you need to talk to somebody. Well, I mean, they did name the Fade Angels.

00:08:08 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 6:

How does our show sound to you? Do you like listening to Mojo in the Morning?

00:08:12 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 7:

Oh, I'm a long-time listener, and I've been trying to get on for a long time. This is the first time I got on.

00:08:18 - 00:08:26 | Speaker 6:

That's a stoner's way of saying long time, first time. Fade Angel on the phone. Thank you for the call. I appreciate you.

00:08:27 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 7:

Oh, no problem. Hey, I also tried to call when you were talking about sex workers, because I've been a sex worker since I've been 16. Oh, no. Are you serious? I'm dead serious, because I've been on my own because I'm intersex. Okay.

00:08:43 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 6:

Well, listen. I'm so sorry. Children, I feel like everybody needs a good parent in their life, unfortunately. We got, well, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Take care of yourself. Have a great day, fate angel. Till Zach, happy birthday. I'm, I just don't know. Okay. Lydia, who's next? I'll take one last call here.

00:09:02 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 5:

Here's the thing. You've got to go all the way down the rabbit hole. Sometimes we just get the comment. I did. I know. I know.

00:09:08 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 3:

Lydia really just said, Mojo, move on.

00:09:11 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that was bad. That was one of those. I know. I'll listen back to that on the podcast and wish that I would have gotten out of that one with a sweeper afterwards. Any last ones here or am I good?

00:09:21 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 3:

I think we're good.

00:09:23 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 1:

Laughter is the shock absorber that eases all the crap in your life. And we like to laugh a lot around here, even if it's just laughing at each other. On Mojo in the Morning.

00:09:32 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 8:

Channel 955.

00:09:33 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 6:

All right. It is the Mojo in the Morning show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Megan's got a story to bring up to us that I think is going to make some people very, very mad. Actually, I think the majority of people are very, very mad.

00:09:49 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 5:

So I have some friends who are lesbians. Lesbians!

00:09:55 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, hold on. I wasn't ready. Wait, I'll start over. Lesbians! There you go, woman.

00:09:59 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 5:

So I have some friends.

00:10:00 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 3:

friends who are lesbian they have a child uh together and that child is about to enter preschool they i i don't know about this process right so they were telling me about this yesterday and how you have to apply for approval months ago and then hope that you get in and then there's enrollment and all that other stuff and this is apparently not a fun process uh yeah it was

00:10:25 - 00:10:32 | Speaker 2:

is it a private preschool yes okay okay why are you looking at me um oh because i was like it

00:10:32 - 00:11:29 | Speaker 3:

wasn't that hard i mean just sign them up so so they signed their child up a long time ago and uh open house was supposed to be yesterday and they get a call from a school saying hey we're going over your files and um we just have some questions and the first question was you know who am i talking to what's your relationship to the child and they said mother they said who is you know so and so what is their relationship to the child they said mother and they said what is your relationship to this other woman on these forms and they said that's my wife and they said um due to that information we are not looking to explain to children why somebody would have two moms and we are not going to be accepting your child this is the day of open house crazy so Preschool starts in a week, and they have nowhere to put their child. Even though they were approved months ago, they didn't say we're revoking your child's enrollment.

00:11:29 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 1:

What was their, what's their reasoning?

00:11:31 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 2:

Because they're lesbians.

00:11:32 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 1:

I know, but I understand.

00:11:33 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Because they don't want to have to explain, this is what she just said, I don't agree with this by any means, but they don't want to have to explain to the other children why little Johnny has two mommies.

00:11:43 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 3:

So now they're a week out from when preschool is like supposed to be starting, and they don't have any daycare options preschool options nannies nothing and now their child is going to be essentially if they can't get into another preschool a year behind we're we're in

00:11:58 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 1:

we're in a year where i thought we were way past that it's funny my my kids went to catholic school and there were many kids in in that school who had same-sex parents and if that is your case

00:12:10 - 00:12:59 | Speaker 3:

there we started venting yesterday i'm trying to stay calm right now there are divorced parents there there are unmarried parents there there are lots of stuff so it just seems kind of like a pick and choose your kind of views on this because if you're gonna go by this which it is a private institution i'm not trying to justify this it makes me very angry but be fair across the board and and hold to those values with all sorts of couples um that break your rules and not just one kind of couple that breaks absolutely and quite frankly whether you agree with the school or not don't do it this late in the game when you've already said yes like if you've already said yes and that was the plan you're now screwing not these parents that child of their education and whatever it's going to be their care while their moms are at work and preschool is no joke

00:12:59 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 2:

like you know regardless of the application process when they fill up they fill up and and there is a capacity and then you're like in your friend's case you're scrambling trying to figure out where there is an availability for one more you know it's it's amazing um that in this day and

00:13:19 - 00:13:39 | Speaker 1:

age that that is still going on and it's also unbelievable that it's not illegal for them to do right that's just crazy that's all illegal um and that's wild that they actually verbalized it too like them doing that and saying that to me is i think it was specifically verbalized and not

00:13:39 - 00:13:45 | Speaker 3:

put in writing for a reason where is this at it's a school in northwest ohio okay so it's okay so

00:13:45 - 00:13:52 | Speaker 1:

it is in the that toledo area i um i wonder what the laws are like i wonder what the law says

00:13:52 - 00:14:05 | Speaker 2:

i do too yeah and i don't and i don't know what it is or if the law does not apply to a private institution i don't think so okay okay um so what is she looking for right now is she looking for

00:14:05 - 00:14:10 | Speaker 1:

another option or is there any I mean is there anybody that can listen and hear this and say hey

00:14:10 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 3:

we might have an option I I would hope so I think the surprising thing for me kind of like Mojo you said I grew up going to both public and private schools like we had kids that weren't even in the faith or yeah you know like there were so many different bent rules I don't even like saying that because that doesn't feel like the right way to phrase it but it just felt like not that big of a deal this seems like a weird hill to put your stake into um I you know it's funny is that there

00:14:37 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 1:

were uh some I remember there were a couple of dads that uh reached out to Chelsea because they uh knew that we had a gay son and their kids were uh their kids were at uh Notre Dame Prep where our boys went and they reached out to Chelsea basically to ask will we be looked at differently because if we are we're not going to put our child through this and Chelsea was like no it's extremely

00:15:00 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 3:

inclusive it's a great school the the or you know the administration's amazing and stuff like that and it was one of those things where i think they wanted to know their kid was going to be safe more so than any of the other parents would sit there and say our children are not safe with two dads raising them you know and they're amazing family what's up blaze hi uh i teach at a different

00:15:24 - 00:15:36 | Speaker 7:

catholic school also in metro detroit and i just also wanted to agree with that sentiment we i've had students with you know same-sex parents also so i was i texted in to ask like are they in metro

00:15:36 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 3:

detroit because we've got no she even mentioned it's ohio isn't that crazy and i don't think that is this a is this a catholic organization or just a private i'm not sure okay essentially the school

00:15:48 - 00:16:01 | Speaker 5:

can get away with it because they're private any like i yeah i'm very frustrated because i do think there should be rules i'm not sure where those lines should be i'm more aggravated it's happening

00:16:01 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 3:

this late in the game let me ask the uh teacher blaze this you know you see this and they're this this particular school in in ohio is acting upon it because they say they don't want the other kids

00:16:13 - 00:16:22 | Speaker 7:

wondering do kids give a crap no nope definitely not and i've never had it come up before and

00:16:22 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 3:

the the kids who are there who have same-sex parents do they have any issues at all not not

00:16:30 - 00:16:35 | Speaker 7:

not that i've seen not at all no i mean i've never even had it come up as a conversation topic i mean

00:16:35 - 00:16:53 | Speaker 1:

i've been teaching for 13 years unreal and with kids because i've noticed this with my own And you like if they if Smith were to come home and be like, you know, Susie's mom or Susie has two moms. And you're like, yep, that, you know, you explain and they're like, OK, like it's never super deep.

00:16:54 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And we have a huge discussion, rightfully so. There's a conversation around bullying. We equally need to keep that same energy for discrimination. That's great.

00:17:06 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 1:

Amen. One more time.

00:17:08 - 00:17:09 | Speaker 4:

This is my mic.

00:17:11 - 00:17:31 | Speaker 3:

You just dropped it. It's a silent mic drop. We're going to look in more to this, and I want to see if anybody gets us more information on if there is even any kind of rules or laws. But also, if anybody knows of a really good preschool in Northwest Ohio that has an opening, we need to talk to you.

00:17:32 - 00:17:40 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. It has been a filthy week, and it's still more filth to go. Megan, what's up?

00:17:40 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 5:

Ben Affleck is finally talking about his divorce with Jennifer Lopez. But, like, I'm going to be real honest. Not really. All right. But this is, like, a big story today. He did a new interview. He shared that he and J-Lo had different approaches to life and the spotlight. He prefers to keep things private while she's more open. But he made it clear that that wasn't necessarily the cause of their breakup. Well, then, bitch, why are you talking? Give us the cause. Tell us. Spill the tea. Ben Affleck says that there's no drama, no scandal, just two people with different perspectives. He added that he has nothing but respect for Jennifer Lopez and hopes that people don't read into their split looking for soap opera-worthy twists. Yes, we are. My question is, do we believe him? Because if you wanted that, why not stay with Jennifer Garner?

00:18:28 - 00:18:28 | Speaker 4:

Hmm.

00:18:29 - 00:18:56 | Speaker 5:

You know? Okay. All right, Kim Kardashian will relive her Paris robbery when she takes a stand at the trial of a Parisian underground gang alleged to have been behind it. Now, Kim will go to the robbery trial in France in May, where she is going to testify on the stand at the jury trial. If you don't remember what happened, she actually went on Letterman's Netflix show. My next guest needs no introduction to recap that robbery.

00:18:56 - 00:19:05 | Speaker 2:

The robbers are dressed as policemen. Is that what I infer here? policemen with masks on how many were in the room was you just the two but they brought in

00:19:05 - 00:20:00 | Speaker 6:

the concierge from downstairs handcuffed with a gun up to him so they were speaking yelling at me in french and i just sat up and i i they kept on saying the ring the ring and i was just so startled i was like you know what like it didn't compute to me for a minute and then the guy goes the ring and i had put it up by the side of my bed so i handed him my ring and then he grabbed me and i was wearing a robe and i wasn't wearing anything under it no no no no no no no we all i don't want to ruin my makeup it's fine the makeup is fine okay and um he grabbed me and pulled me towards him, but I wasn't worried.

00:20:00 - 00:22:09 | Speaker 1:

anything underneath so i was like okay this is like the time i'm gonna get like just deal like it's this is it's gonna happen you know like just prepare yourself so i did and then i don't know why i'm crying i've talked about this before french officials investigated the case for five years before finally ordering the case to trial in 2021 now the trial is set to start in may which is nearly a decade after that incident first occurred which is crazy kendrick lamar's super bowl halftime show had some viewers complaining about inappropriate lyrics raunchy dance moves and some apparent anti-american themes a few took issues with the drake beef throwing uh shade at drake in the performance to be quite fair that was my favorite part look directly into the camera smiled say hey drake uh there were 125 complaints that were sent to the fcc following the performance the majority of them felt it was not a family-friendly experience many accused kendrick of having a potty mouth only using black performers being divisive with his set several noticed the split american flag visual at one point in the show but for comparison here rihanna's show in 2024 resulted in just over 100 complaints but jennifer lopez and shakir's halftime show ranked in more than 1,300 complaints in 2020. And finally, if you want to look like a president's wife on perhaps your biggest day, well, now you can. Melania Trump's Christian Dior by John Galliano gown from her and President Donald Trump's January 2005 wedding appears to be for sale on eBay. Melania reportedly paid Oh, God, $100,000 for the dress 20 years ago. But it's possible you can get it for quite the steal, the starting bid on that dress, a mere $45,000. Oh, it's on sale. Yeah, quite the steal. You can check out all of today's Dirty by listening to our podcast by searching for Mojo in the Morning on the free iHeartRadio app.

It's Mojo in the mornings, 5 at 6.55. It's Mojo in the mornings.

00:27:04 - 00:27:04 | Unknown:

Sweet.

00:27:05 - 00:27:07 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama.

00:27:07 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 5:

What's happening, Gavin?

00:27:09 - 00:27:10 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what's up?

00:27:10 - 00:27:15 | Speaker 5:

Gavin is a teacher. You teach eighth grade, right?

00:27:16 - 00:27:17 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I do.

00:27:17 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 5:

When Gavin graduated from undergrad, your mom was not able to go to your graduation. Is that what I'm understanding?

00:27:26 - 00:27:32 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, because COVID happened and so we didn't even have a graduation. So we were all pretty upset about that.

00:27:32 - 00:28:00 | Speaker 5:

So never got a chance to see him in his cap and ground. Well, he's been going and doing further education. And you're going to tell your mom in five lives to tell your mom that you are dropping out. So she is still not going to see you graduate. Are you ready for five lies? Yep. Let me go through the lies so that the listeners can listen for them, okay? These are the lies we gave them. Lie number one, I got an email from my advisor. Lie number two.

00:28:01 - 00:28:03 | Speaker 1:

You are going to say I might not graduate.

00:28:04 - 00:28:09 | Speaker 5:

Lie number three. My internship hours didn't count. Lie number four.

00:28:09 - 00:28:11 | Speaker 2:

My school is not a valid school.

00:28:12 - 00:28:13 | Speaker 5:

And lie number five.

00:28:13 - 00:28:19 | Speaker 3:

I think I'm just going to drop out. Oh, my God. She's going to freak out. She's not going to be happy.

00:28:19 - 00:28:20 | Speaker 1:

That's what we're looking for.

00:28:20 - 00:28:22 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's the whole point.

00:28:22 - 00:28:23 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom. Good.

00:28:23 - 00:28:29 | Speaker 5:

We want mom to get a little riled up, and then eventually we'll tell her that, you know, she's on with us, and we'll get her a prize, okay?

00:28:31 - 00:28:32 | Speaker 3:

All right. Sounds great.

00:28:32 - 00:28:41 | Speaker 5:

All right, Gavin. Good luck to you. Let's do it. Five lies to tell your mom. What do your students know you as instead of Gavin? Mr. Kress. Mr. Kress. Here we go.

00:28:45 - 00:30:06 | Speaker 3:

hello mom yeah i got an email from my um advisor today and um she said that i'm not going to graduate what yeah can you believe that why she said that my internship hours are not counting even though she told me they were. Oh, no. You need to call somebody. You need to get your ass on that phone and f***ing call somebody. Who am I supposed to call? My advisor, I already tried talking to her. She said no. She said they're not counting. She said they're not counting because apparently my school that I'm working at right now, it's not counting. I couldn't do it here. No, they told me I could. Oh, f***. Give me her phone number. Give me her f***ing phone number. Mom, okay, I can give you the phone number, but, like, honestly, there's not, I'm not going to do anything about it. If they're going to, they're making me restart over the whole thing from, like, year one. Like, I have to start over from class, I have to do a whole other year. Like, at this point, I'm just going to drop out. Like, I don't want to even finish school.

00:30:06 - 00:30:07 | Speaker 2:

Why do you have to start over at a whole other year?

00:30:09 - 00:30:12 | Speaker 3:

I'm just, I'm going to drop out, Mom. I don't want to even do it anymore.

00:30:13 - 00:30:19 | Speaker 2:

We're going to figure this out. If they told you those intern hours counted, and now all of a sudden they're telling you they're not?

00:30:21 - 00:30:30 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, Mom. Like, I'm so upset right now. I mean, I was so excited to graduate. And now I'm, you know, I'm not going to get that opportunity.

00:30:30 - 00:30:36 | Speaker 2:

Give me somebody's phone number. You need to. Who told you that you could intern at your school?

00:30:37 - 00:30:49 | Speaker 3:

My advisor. My advisor told me, like, that was okay. And now they're telling me it's not okay. And they took away my 240 hours. And now I have to do them all over again. And I'm not doing that.

00:30:49 - 00:30:55 | Speaker 2:

That took me almost the whole school year. I will talk to somebody. Give me a phone number.

00:30:56 - 00:31:01 | Speaker 1:

Is this Kim? Hi, Kim. I'm the advisor.

00:31:02 - 00:31:03 | Speaker 2:

Oh, okay.

00:31:03 - 00:31:04 | Speaker 1:

How are you?

00:31:05 - 00:31:05 | Speaker 2:

00:31:06 - 00:31:11 | Speaker 1:

00:31:13 - 00:31:21 | Speaker 2:

00:31:21 - 00:31:23 | Speaker 1:

00:31:24 - 00:31:32 | Speaker 5:

You did it. Wow. Hold on Hold on, let's call her back

00:31:32 - 00:31:33 | Speaker 2:

00:31:33 - 00:31:35 | Speaker 3:

Hello?

00:31:35 - 00:31:36 | Speaker 1:

00:31:37 - 00:31:38 | Speaker 2:

We love you. Congratulations to you on raising a good guy. Well, thank you.

00:33:24 - 00:33:24 | Speaker 2:

00:33:25 - 00:33:28 | Speaker 4:

If I ever need some backup, I'm calling. That's right.

00:33:30 - 00:33:35 | Speaker 1:

00:33:35 - 00:33:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I know, I'm not. It's Mojo in the Mornings.

00:33:38 - 00:33:50 | Speaker 5:

Five lies to tell your mom. Getting ghosted sucks. Second date update is at 820 on Mojo in the Morning.

00:33:51 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 4:

Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Hold the phone. Stop the press. There was an error during the 5 at 6.55. Listen.

00:34:06 - 00:34:31 | Speaker 5:

Megan, what did you do? Listen. Listen, Linda. Listen. We didn't need 8 million texts, okay? I had a hard time reading the years. I forgot what day it was. Leave me alone. I know. I know. Somebody has written the wrong day. I read the year wrong. I thought last year was 2023. I thought it was currently 2023.

00:34:31 - 00:34:43 | Speaker 4:

So during the 5 is 655, there was a question about who performed at last year's Super Bowl. We had it as Rihanna, but in reality, it was Ersher.

00:34:43 - 00:34:53 | Speaker 5:

Who was at our jingle ball that we talked about a million times performing at the Super Bowl just weeks after he was at our jingle ball at LCA. So I'm the dumbest person alive.

00:34:54 - 00:34:55 | Speaker 4:

I don't think it changed anything, though.

00:34:55 - 00:34:59 | Speaker 5:

I didn't. Thank God. We went back over the scores and because Brandon.

00:35:00 - 00:35:21 | Speaker 2:

00:35:21 - 00:36:08 | Speaker 5:

of Mojo in the Morning. The world famous Channel 955. Mojo in the Morning Channel. It's topic. could get a little dirty here right now um when is the best time to ask your significant other for something shannon's friends what does they want what do they want to do so we are all gonna

00:36:08 - 00:36:44 | Speaker 3:

do like a little girl's trip yeah and so my one girlfriend was like man i feel like i've been away like a lot lately i don't know and i won't say names but i don't know if my husband my husband's going to be cool with me saying like watch the kids for another weekend so i can go on this trip and so she decided to be very smart and selective with how and when she was going to ask him and so she decided to ask him mid pleasuring him i'm trying to make this radio appropriate

00:36:44 - 00:36:49 | Speaker 5:

she stopped what she was doing mid pledge i'm sorry i don't understand what you're talking

00:36:49 - 00:37:12 | Speaker 3:

about okay well i'm gonna get us an fcc fine if i say it no no i'm pleasuring him like rubbing his back scratching was it a massage sure yes she was rubbing his back and she stopped what she was doing i'm pleasuring myself asked him if she if she could go on this girl's trip and he goes yes yes yes do whatever you want just make sure you finish and so she's coming now and so did he

00:37:12 - 00:37:19 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Wow. Did that conversation sound like, ooh? No, it sounded like, you're a dirty girl.

00:37:19 - 00:37:23 | Speaker 3:

No, but she did the best impression of how the conversation went down.

00:37:23 - 00:37:26 | Speaker 5:

Wait, girls will tell other girls this stuff.

00:37:26 - 00:37:27 | Speaker 3:

How do you think I know this story?

00:37:28 - 00:37:29 | Speaker 5:

This is amazing.

00:37:29 - 00:37:31 | Speaker 3:

You guys are so smart.

00:37:32 - 00:37:33 | Speaker 5:

Is this your Bible study?

00:37:33 - 00:37:37 | Speaker 3:

She's like, I think I could get anything I wanted if I did it this way all the time. Is this a small group?

00:37:38 - 00:38:19 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, this is a small. So that, to me, is very interesting. I would feel like I was being completely set up. I would feel like I was a piece of meat when that was going on. And by the way, I always say don't ever agree to anything until your attorney is there. You make sure your attorney is there. That's interesting. Okay, so 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. wait, what's the best time for you to ask for something that you know might be a little bit of a possible no? Yeah. What's the best time? That's interesting. I never really thought about that. Jennifer, are you there?

00:38:21 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, hello.

00:38:22 - 00:38:25 | Speaker 5:

Jennifer, what's the best time to ask for something from your significant other?

00:38:26 - 00:38:40 | Speaker 4:

So when we're in an argument over having another baby and he does not want one, and I do, when he I'll finally say well can I get this can I go somewhere can I get this item oh instead of

00:38:40 - 00:38:45 | Speaker 3:

having a baby you'll say okay if we're not going to have a baby then can I get this pair of shoes

00:38:45 - 00:39:07 | Speaker 5:

yeah what's the biggest thing that you've asked for what smart a baby I mean like other than what's the biggest thing you bought or tried to buy it quick question what would you rather She bought Lululemon. What would you rather have, the baby or the Lululemon? Because I want to know what you're manipulating with.

00:39:09 - 00:39:12 | Speaker 4:

I mean, I want the baby. We have five total, though.

00:39:12 - 00:39:27 | Speaker 5:

Girl, you do. And you want another baby? You should buy a car. You need to do what Shannon's friend's doing. You should buy a surgery. And there will be no baby. Yeah, rubbacks. Exactly. Michelle, what's going on?

00:39:27 - 00:39:36 | Speaker 1:

Hi, guys. So I got my husband drunk on mimosas in Las Vegas, and then I made him take me to the Louis Vuitton store.

00:39:37 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. This woman, give her a...

00:39:39 - 00:39:39 | Speaker 1:

This is illegal.

00:39:41 - 00:39:55 | Speaker 5:

You win the Oscar for most manipulative wife. I'm trying to think, like... It's amazing. There's no way my wife does this. There's no way. I can't think of a time, but I bet that's because she's so damn good at it. You don't even know. I don't even know it's happening.

00:39:55 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 3:

If she told you that you were the funniest guy.

00:40:00 - 00:40:05 | Speaker 2:

she's ever met in her whole life. She could get anything she asks for after that comment. And you know it.

00:40:05 - 00:40:12 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Michelle, how many mimosas did your husband have to pour down his throat to buy you a thousand plus dollar purse?

00:40:13 - 00:40:15 | Speaker 1:

It was over probably an hour and a half.

00:40:15 - 00:40:23 | Speaker 3:

And how much was the purse that you ended up buying from Louis Vuitton? I'm sorry, they call them handbags when they're expensive.

00:40:24 - 00:40:29 | Speaker 1:

No, I actually just got in a wallet the week before. So I got a bottle of perfume and earrings.

00:40:29 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God.

00:40:30 - 00:40:30 | Speaker 1:

What?

00:40:31 - 00:40:36 | Speaker 3:

Again, this is an Oscar award winner on the phone here. When are you going back to Vegas? Yeah.

00:40:37 - 00:40:39 | Speaker 1:

Not for a long time.

00:40:40 - 00:40:45 | Speaker 3:

Here's a very personal question. Do you do what Shannon's friend does to her husband?

00:40:46 - 00:40:49 | Speaker 1:

No, that wouldn't work. I got to do, like, the mimosas.

00:40:50 - 00:40:54 | Speaker 3:

But is it because you don't like doing what her friend does to the husband?

00:40:55 - 00:40:55 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:40:55 - 00:40:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Mimosas taste amazing.

00:40:58 - 00:41:02 | Speaker 4:

The other stuff? Yeah. Maybe that's a lie.

00:41:02 - 00:41:37 | Speaker 3:

I have to tell you something, Michelle. I think that you're a genius. Women, learn from Michelle. This is how you take care of your man. Go take him to Vegas and make him all of a sudden. That's, by the way, I have to tell you, that's why they have those stores there. Do you understand that? Like those really expensive stores? They have them in the casinos for all the dumb guys that win money gambling to go buy their girls whatever the heck they want to buy them so they can go continue to gamble. That's their whole purpose. All right. Thank you for the calls.

00:41:38 - 00:41:39 | Speaker 4:

I'd rather have the other stuff.

00:41:39 - 00:41:44 | Speaker 3:

I just want you to know that my wife never does this stuff to me because I'm too smart to figure it out. Yeah, whatever.

00:41:47 - 00:41:49 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea at the mall right now. Does that make you feel better?

00:41:51 - 00:41:51 | Unknown:

Hey.

00:41:52 - 00:42:11 | Speaker 5:

Even if you're single, you're still getting screwed in many ways of your life. Screwed financially. Screwed by friends who tell you one thing, then do another. Screwed by your employer. See, you can still get screwed without having sex. This moment of clarity brought to you by Mojo in the Morning. Back to Mojo in the Morning.

00:42:13 - 00:43:50 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning show. Quick question for everybody. Am I wrong in the fact that I didn't say anything? Are you supposed to say something when you see a person that looks drastically different? I'm going to give you an example, and I'll tell you my personal example. If you see somebody that just recently lost a bunch of weight and you haven't seen them in a while, are you supposed to point out that, oh, my God, you've lost a lot of weight or you look great? Or are you supposed to, if you see somebody that completely changed their hair color, like drastically changed their hair color, are you supposed to point it out and say, hey oh man i like that color on you or you know hair color absolutely that's a big thing is a safe one then here's my case i had a friend that was offended that and we all got together as a group of us and she was more offended with me because she says that i'm a boob person and i did not make a comment about the fact that she got a boob enlargement she got her boob implants that she actually got breast augmentation. Yes. And I didn't say anything at all. And she was all upset that she got all this done. And she's like, and Tom didn't even say anything. And I'm like, if I say something, then all of a sudden I'm the pervert saying something. You cannot say that. And actually, it's funny because she goes to Chelsea. She goes, I can't believe he didn't say anything. And Chelsea's like, well, you know. Thank God. I've been trying to get him to not say stuff. He's actually behaving himself right now.

00:43:51 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 2:

Even if it was like girl to girl, if it was a girl that I knew, unless she was one of my really close friends, I would not comment on that.

00:43:58 - 00:44:20 | Speaker 4:

Or like in today's world where BBLs are a big thing. Some women, you know, they go away for a couple months, they come back with a fatty that wasn't there before they left. People really are still getting BBLs. I mean, I feel like it's slowed down a little bit, but yeah, people look different. Yeah, the gad is natural. But there are certain body parts that I feel like are off limits. The hair thing, yeah, you can comment on that.

00:44:20 - 00:44:27 | Speaker 2:

A million percent and overly comment and compliment. Because when girls get their hair done, colored, cut, like a big change, they want that.

00:44:28 - 00:44:47 | Speaker 3:

But the breasts? No. I add another one to this list. I add when somebody loses a bunch of weight. Because I add that you cannot say anything to somebody. Because if you say something to somebody, they get offended that you said something. And then what is the first thing that they say? I didn't do it through I don't know

00:44:47 - 00:44:59 | Speaker 2:

I don't think there's anything wrong with telling somebody you look phenomenal but you don't have to say you lost a bunch of weight but why can't you just say you look so good see how I do it I don't know

00:45:00 - 00:45:17 | Speaker 5:

Last time this happened, it's been a while, but last Pistons season, I remember a dude came in to the back office, like we have our pre-meetings or whatever like that, and visibly he looks smaller. And what I said, I was like, you been working out? He like, yeah, man, I lost one. Like, he was good.

00:45:17 - 00:45:20 | Speaker 4:

But you didn't say, dude, you lost a ton away.

00:45:20 - 00:45:23 | Speaker 5:

I was like, you been working out? Like, it's clear. It's all about how you say it. Yeah.

00:45:23 - 00:45:41 | Speaker 4:

But a woman, we talked about this, and Megan's out this morning, but we talked about this with Megan when she said that everybody would come up and say something to her because listen she lost she has lost an uh an incredible uh amount of weight and she looks amazing she's you know feeling amazing but i will say this about megan

00:45:41 - 00:45:55 | Speaker 1:

megan would totally accept the compliment of you look fabulous she hates it when people are like what are you are you doing like she hates the qualifier of that then it's also so there's like

00:45:55 - 00:46:01 | Speaker 5:

suicide is like when you say i look so good does it mean that i didn't look good before yes like

00:46:01 - 00:46:41 | Speaker 4:

that's like the extra but but the boobs are the boobs are the ones that i'm not you cannot come out no i'm not trying to get in no sexual harassment type thing motorboat you play the motorboat but everybody's thinking it everybody thinking it now yeah i i honestly i did not even notice i promise you and normally i notice everything she should have went up a size what No, it had nothing to do with that. I was not looking at her. I was looking at her eyes. Okay. Beautiful eyes. What's up, Eric? How you doing? Good. This is Big Red, formerly Big Red. What's up, Big Red? Yeah, by the way, I heard Big Red's lost a bunch of weight. Is that true, Big Red?

00:46:41 - 00:46:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I lost 140 pounds. Wow. That's incredible. Little Red.

00:46:47 - 00:46:55 | Speaker 4:

Big Red. By the way, Big Red, is it bad if people ask you how you lost that weight? Because a lot of times now people are real touchy with that.

00:46:56 - 00:47:17 | Speaker 3:

No, no, I encourage it. I, you know, as a guy, you never get compliments anyhow. So any compliment I can get, I'll eat it up. How do you lose the weight? How do you lose the weight? Diet, I change my diet. I instead of eating junk food every five minutes, I eat healthy, I eat proteins, I eat good stuff, drink a lot more liquids.

00:47:18 - 00:47:51 | Speaker 4:

Oh, don't, don't offend. Don't be offended if I play this, but I was going to play this right afterwards. And I'm not insinuating, because 140 pounds is a lot of weight to lose just off of diet. But. We sang it.

00:47:51 - 00:47:53 | Speaker 1:

Who is that, by the way? I don't know. I love him.

00:47:54 - 00:48:02 | Speaker 4:

So just diet and exercise. You know what? It's funny. I hate it because it's too easy.

00:48:03 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't move when I was big.

00:48:05 - 00:48:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:48:05 - 00:48:12 | Speaker 3:

And then when I started losing, I could move more. So I'd go to the mall and I'd just walk and walk and walk. Now I'm walking everywhere.

00:48:12 - 00:48:13 | Speaker 4:

Good for you.

00:48:13 - 00:48:20 | Speaker 3:

I don't eat junk food anymore. I used to live on peanut M&M's and Ho-Ho's and candy bars.

00:48:20 - 00:48:22 | Speaker 4:

Do they taste different to you now?

00:48:23 - 00:48:28 | Speaker 3:

They don't taste right. They're terrible. I can't eat them. They don't taste right.

00:48:29 - 00:48:44 | Speaker 4:

I was telling a friend this the other day because I am doing a shot, so I'm doing Mangiorno, and I was telling them that I can't have peanut M&Ms or any kind of normal candies and stuff that I used to like before because they taste chemically to me.

00:48:45 - 00:48:46 | Speaker 5:

That's how pop is for me.

00:48:46 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 4:

Diane, what's up?

00:48:47 - 00:49:00 | Speaker 2:

hey how are you guys this morning we're good what's up good hey um so i recently myself lost 35 pounds i've struggled with my weight my whole life and congratulations by the way let's give it

00:49:00 - 00:49:07 | Speaker 4:

up let's give it up for her that was awesome you deserve it thank you guys well and i'm not ashamed

00:49:07 - 00:49:56 | Speaker 2:

to say that i did the semaglutide okay because that's the only thing that could help me control my appetite but i've been off it for a little bit and i'm keeping it off so good for you that being that i was commenting on what you said earlier about when people don't say wow you look great you lost weight i love it i welcome it it makes me feel so good because i'm proud of my accomplishment but you want to know something you guys my own sister i have one sibling she's three years older he will not say wow diane you look great you lost weight not say a word is she a hater is she heavy Not nice. Well, she's bigger boned, and she does what goes up and down, so she's very thick. But, boy, when she, you know, wants a compliment, oh, I lost this match, I lost this match, you know. I mean, I hate saying that, but it is fabulous.

00:49:56 - 00:50:21 | Speaker 5:

Big bones? I ain't never seen a fat skeleton. Stop playing. Can I tell you something? And everybody teaches on on this one. You told us about you taking, you know, something for it. My doctor told me something. My doctor's the one that told me to do this. Dr. Warner was the one that told me to do this. And his biggest thing was, because I was going to get weight loss surgery, because I literally have struggled with my weight my entire life. Listeners know that. And he said to me, he goes, hey.

00:50:21 - 00:50:24 | Speaker 1:

I will see you guys forever, every single day. I never miss you.

00:50:24 - 00:50:36 | Speaker 5:

Well, he made a comment to me. He goes, hey, if this is something that saves a person's life, being able to lose weight, because there's a lot of people that are diabetic or pre-diabetic, and if this doesn't...

00:50:36 - 00:50:38 | Speaker 1:

My husband's a diabetic. He left his leg to it.

00:50:38 - 00:50:44 | Speaker 5:

Well, then you know what? I'd rather lose the weight through a shot than lose my leg through not, you know?

00:50:44 - 00:50:45 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yeah.

00:50:45 - 00:50:49 | Speaker 5:

All right. Thank you. Thank you for telling us that. Congrats.

00:50:50 - 00:50:52 | Speaker 1:

Thanks. Have an awesome week. You too. All right. Thank you.

00:50:52 - 00:50:56 | Speaker 5:

Allison says weight is off limits. Do not mention anybody who's lost weight. Right, Allison?

00:50:56 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 1:

yeah hi um i just think it's i think we have to be really careful especially in our society today on commenting on people's bodies and especially weight because it's putting a lot of value and worth and what we look like and i just feel like it can send the wrong message and i know people are proud if they you know if they've worked hard and they've lost the weight and they've put in the work but i think we have to be really careful because it can send the wrong message about you know them not looking good that could be oh i didn't look good before how about if i say you look really healthy yeah i think that's probably worse yeah that's way worse yeah you think that's good if you don't know i made a comment one time about somebody's weight and come to start losing weight and come to find out she was going through a really tough time in her life and it brought up a lot of really hard emotions so something i thought was going to be really positive for this person turned out to be a really emotional situation for her yeah i

00:52:05 - 00:52:56 | Speaker 5:

actually had that happen to me one time i said to somebody i go god you look good you lost a lot of weight and they were actually battling cancer at the time i didn't even realize it can i can i um Can I tell you the one that I always want to do when somebody overly and it's usually male overly dyes their hair and it's like to a point where it looks really so unnatural. Listen, I, you know, popped in some stuff in my beard because I get worried because my beard will get very, very gray the more that I shave it down. And but somebody tell me if I go too dark, if it goes too dark, tell me because there is nothing because there was times I would look at. old pictures of myself and i would and i would put stuff in it and it looked horrible and i was like oh my god and so i kind of went away from it but there are some guys that you're like they're walking around and they got like gray eyebrows bro like huell perkins remember

00:52:56 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 4:

that's right huell yeah he had the whole but there are some guys that diet great they diet black like

00:53:02 - 00:53:07 | Speaker 2:

it looks like a kindergartner painted their hair it looks so bad i always thought that was like a

00:53:07 - 00:53:16 | Speaker 5:

that was a like that black guys had different uh gray hair than white guys did that wasn't Huel Perkins? Are you sure Huel wasn't known? Really?

00:53:16 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 3:

Bro, look. Come on, dog. The whole top of his head is silver and his mustache is black. Come on, dog. What were you doing? I don't know him any other way, though. Huel a legend. Yeah. All respect to Huel, but come on, bro. Come on, bro. Come on, man. We can see what's going on.

00:53:32 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 5:

By the way, you guys got to stop doing this to me because every time you do that, I don't have my...

00:53:36 - 00:53:37 | Speaker 3:

Come on.

00:53:39 - 00:53:55 | Speaker 6:

00:53:55 - 00:54:12 | Speaker 4:

Before we get into the dirty, I want to give a big shout out to a young man I met at the Pistons game yesterday. He and his family came all the way over from Canada. Shout out to Q, a.k.a. Quentin. Your dad is a legend. Now, it's time to get dirty, Quentin, with Megan Mick.

00:54:12 - 00:55:00 | Speaker 2:

I literally hate both of you. Zach for that oh yeah, and Kev for whatever that intro to the dirty just was. Not the shout out part, but the me part. All right, Lady Gaga is headed to court by a surfboard company who is claiming that she stole their logo for her new album, Mayhem. The company is called Lost International. They're suing Lady Gaga for trademark infringement, claiming that the two logos look too identical. Now, if you're wondering, it's the word mayhem in two completely different fonts on T-shirts. And they're claiming, hey, hey, hey, hey, that's our word. And then we sell T-shirts. That's literally the basis of their claim. Like, they are not identical, if you ask me. If you really want my honest opinion, I...

00:55:00 - 00:55:34 | Speaker 3:

I kind of feel like the surfboard company is doing this just to promote their company. Because it is, like, the similarity ends at a graphic word. That's it. That's the same word. The font is different. Like, I'm, not to be a total nerd, but if you want to watch a documentary on fonts, go watch the Helvetica one. Very interesting. And as soon as you watch it, you're going to be like, those are two different ones. The surfboard brand is claiming that they've used this logo for 10 years. Of course, it should be theirs. They've owned the Mayhem trademark since 2015. Have any of you listened to this album? I will never listen to it.

00:55:34 - 00:55:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, you made me listen to it on the way to Columbus, the whole thing, front and back. What did you think? It's a Lady Gaga album. I will fight you.

00:55:44 - 00:56:08 | Speaker 3:

These fists will start swinging. Kev, you just pulled up both logos. Do you think? No. There's zero similarities here. It's just the word Mayhem. That's it. That's literally it. All right, Jelly Roll sat down for a podcast. It was really interesting. He talked a lot about his relationship with Eminem. Jelly Roll says Eminem's story just related to him so much, and they had so many, like, crossover aspects of their life.

00:56:09 - 00:57:07 | Speaker 2:

His story inspired me from the beginning. Like, I related to him in my soul. Like, a trailer park kid from Detroit who's trying to find his way out through hip-hop, it immediately sat on me as a kid who grew up in and out of apartments and trailer parks his whole life. And then he has a kid named Haley, And then later in life, I have a kid named Bailey. You know what I mean? And I didn't name Bailey. I was in jail. I didn't get a vote. You know what I'm saying? She didn't care about my thought in that situation. You know what I'm saying? I love her name, but I had nothing to do with it. You know, so it's like you start going, man, this is crazy. My mother is obviously, I didn't have as dramatic. I mean, what he went through with his mother was crazy. But we all seen it publicly. But I definitely had a mother who struggled in my childhood. She's great now. But she definitely struggled. So I just related to all these elements anyways. Like, he was my voice. I seen a meme one time that I think summed it up so good. They said, Eminem raised me, raised me through my childhood. Jelly Roll's getting me through my adulthood.

00:57:07 - 00:57:32 | Speaker 3:

I love that. He said Eminem was the polar opposite from other heroes he had met who had let him down. So, pretty cool. Pretty nice little shout out there, too, our boy Eminem. Will Smith recently sat down for an interview and took the time to speak about his ban from the Oscars. Will Smith was given a 10-year ban after he slapped the host, Chris Rock, during the 2022 Academy Awards. Now, the actor is saying that he's working towards a positive future.

00:57:32 - 00:57:42 | Speaker 1:

I am looking to be the best human I can possibly be, and I'm going to take what I get with that.

00:57:43 - 00:58:38 | Speaker 3:

That was a word salad, baby. I'm going to be the best human and take what I get with that. What? If I said that, y'all would start texting him being like, did you have a stroke? What is happening here? Chris Rock has not been open about speaking with the actor. He did, however, say that he was open to hosting the Oscars again, saying, you never know. This is what I would say. The most miserable people on earth are the people that can't forgive. All right. OK, Chris. OK. Miley Cyrus released a trailer for the film set to release alongside her upcoming album, Something Beautiful. Now, this is going to tease the story that's going to be backed by the album's 13 tracks. They're calling it a unique visual experience fueled by fantasy, including 13 original songs from the upcoming album. It's a one-of-a-kind pop opera from the mind of Miley Cyrus. That's like what they're captioning it, right? Do you want to hear the preview for the album? Yes. Okay, play.

00:58:39 - 00:58:46 | Speaker 1:

If I break away any bodies between us, would you promise that I'm enough?

00:58:47 - 00:59:59 | Speaker 3:

Dude, I'm down for a visual album release. Like, let us not forget when Beyonce dropped Lemonade just as a visual album. It was iconic. I love this. The film is set to come out in June, but the album, Something Beautiful, will drop on May 30th. So I'm guessing it's only going to be like a little bit. Hey, this is Miley Cyrus with Mojo in the Morning on Channel 955. And I know how much you love the Huck to a girl. So I'm doing this one for you guys because I don't, I don't understand why she's so famous. Her name is Haley Walsh. She is that viral girl behind the hock to a meme. She is, and I quote, not my words, making a comeback with a documentary about her. Why do we keep giving this girl opportunities? Okay, Haley's rise to fame in 2024 was followed by a controversy surrounding her meme inspired cryptocurrency, which was the dollar sign followed by the word hawk, which led to accusations of fraud and legal complaints. So she's got this new documentary coming out, which I thought she had a podcast and she had a television show.

01:00:00 - 01:00:43 | Speaker 4:

docu-series. And she had the Hawk to a coin. Yeah, that's the one that we just talked about that had all the problems with it. Well, the documentary is going to be called, oh god, I hate this so much, Doc to a Oh my god It's been on that mojo It promises to provide an unfiltered look at her journey from obscurity to obscurity, wait, no, their words was obscurity to internet stardom, shedding light on the psychological toll of instant fame. 01:00:46 - 01:00:58 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of Mojo in the Morning. The world famous Channel 955. Mojo in the Morning. Kevin, did you say that you went to the hospital because you weren't feeling good? I did.

01:00:58 - 01:02:37 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yeah, man, I was moving into my place, and I started to get settled, and I started to feel some discomfort in my chest, and it was this sharp pain that was there, and I haven't been to the doctor in, I would say, a year, maybe more than a year, haven't had a physical in a while, the only time I really go to the doctor is if, like, something's wrong with my throat, and I can't, like, do my job, and I need, like, you know, something to make that go away. But as far as, like, checking my physical health, that's not really something that I've done, and I need to get better at that. So when this pain happened, it's not something that happens regular. So I paid attention to it. But I'm still like, oh, that's okay. It's just a little pain. Maybe it'll go away. Day two comes, it doesn't go away. Day three comes, it doesn't go away. But on day three, it starts to not only become a pain, but it starts to happen every time that I breathe. So every time I take a deep breath, it's like I have to, like, kind of cut the breath short or else the pain will be there. And it's happening as I'm laying in the bed. It's happening as I'm walking. Like, it is just happening throughout the day. It's not if I make some sort of movement or if I, you know, run up the stairs. It's just present. And I'm laying in the bed, and I'm thinking, like, okay, this is cool because I don't feel it anymore. Roll over, and it's like a sharp pain. Like, somebody just stabbed me. I'm like, okay, this is getting serious. Not only is the pain becoming more intense, but it's starting to spread. And it's no longer just in my chest. It's, like, under my rib cage at this point on my right side. I'm like, okay, tomorrow morning, I'm going to say emergency. Wait, wait, tomorrow morning? I'm in the bed chilling at this point. I'm like, I don't think I'm about to die for real. You're such a guy. You're such a guy.

01:02:37 - 01:02:41 | Speaker 2:

Tomorrow morning, you're not getting on the phone.

01:02:42 - 01:02:49 | Speaker 1:

Somebody call 911. So I made a ZocDoc. I downloaded like ZocDoc. Not the ZocDoc.

01:02:50 - 01:02:55 | Speaker 4:

Which podcast told you to put in their code? Which podcast did you hear that on?

01:02:55 - 01:03:01 | Speaker 1:

I just Googled. I Googled, like, doctors near me. And then, like, the app put it. I was like, all right, man, let's get a doctor.

01:03:01 - 01:03:05 | Speaker 3:

Dude, to them and HelloFresh Sponsor's room.

01:03:06 - 01:03:17 | Speaker 1:

Oh, look, I got a doctor's appointment. I got a doctor's appointment from, like, a Friday. And this Wednesday is when it was going crazy. I was like, yeah, I'm about to cancel this appointment Thursday once at a doctor. So I woke up Thursday morning.

01:03:17 - 01:03:21 | Speaker 3:

You still went to sleep. You would have maybe would have just you didn't wake up.

01:03:22 - 01:03:29 | Speaker 1:

True. Thank God I woke up. I went to receiving because that's like the closest hospital to me down here. So I get in there, get to the emergency room. Can I guess?

01:03:30 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Did they tell you you have PCS? What is that? Precordial something syndrome. It's like chest pains that are really normal that feel like the beginning of a heart attack.

01:03:40 - 01:03:41 | Speaker 2:

No. You heard that commercial too.

01:03:42 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 1:

That was on the podcast. So listen, first off, they put me on an EKG. They like, take your shirt off. Let's put the little things in there. They run an EKG. They take me in the back. Then this guy comes out like with the ultrasound thing and he puts the jelly on there. He starts to do this ultrasound, starts to go all around my chest. Then he took me in the back. This other guy took me in the back and man, shout out to Sonny, who was a listener. Sonny did my chest x-rays. Come back and they're like, man, we can't find anything. Like everything checks out, looks good. What have you been doing? I'm like, damn, I did move my mattress. So it was just a poor muscle.

01:04:20 - 01:04:28 | Speaker 3:

But you know what? You did the right thing. You don't mess around with chest pain. Well, you kind of did the right thing. At least you went in. You should have went in earlier.

01:04:28 - 01:04:32 | Speaker 2:

Is this a wake-up call, though, for you? To not move mattresses?

01:04:32 - 01:04:39 | Speaker 1:

I just felt like I'm dead out of shape, bro. I've been striking pain in my chest because I moved a mattress, bro.

01:04:39 - 01:04:42 | Speaker 4:

I sneezed once, and I pulled a muscle in my back.

01:04:42 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 3:

I don't have to. The mom in me is coming out here, and I fully understand this, but you should get a physical every year. One, because it makes your insurance cheaper. our insurance cheaper yeah if you like establish your primary care and go get a physical and all those things but also like a lot can happen in a year can i also

01:05:00 - 01:05:23 | Speaker 5:

say what else you should do stop eating sweet water wings every night of the week do you guys know that this guy goes to sweet first off we we leave the game the other night the game ends at 11 45 i'm like i'm going to bed and i'm up in three hours for work kev go to bed he goes no i'm gonna stop off at sweet water and go get myself a dozen wings the literal the best wings you've

01:05:39 - 01:05:42 | Speaker 6:

Shannon, we should go to Sweetwater. They fire, bro. Here's my favorite.

01:05:44 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 5:

Here's my favorite with him. My favorite is he tells a story. He's like, so I got this pain. I'm sitting there. So I said, I'll go tomorrow.

01:05:52 - 01:05:52 | Speaker 3:

I know.

01:05:53 - 01:05:56 | Speaker 6:

At least you won. I'm supposed to jump up and go at that moment. Yes.

01:05:56 - 01:06:07 | Speaker 5:

No, I'm okay. What if you die in your sleep? What if your mom calls and you don't answer the phone? She goes over to your house and your decrepit body is sleeping.

01:06:07 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 6:

Decrepit?

01:06:08 - 01:06:10 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, or decomposed.

01:06:10 - 01:06:12 | Speaker 6:

I thought I was about to die at the Lion King one time.

01:06:12 - 01:06:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Jesus.

01:06:13 - 01:06:49 | Speaker 6:

That was for real. Really? I swear to God. We were rushing. I thought it was at the Fox. It wasn't. We get out the car. They like, no, it's not here. I checked the tickets at the music hall. I got to race over to the music hall. Long story short, I sat in my seat and it felt like literally somebody was choking my heart like it felt like hands were inside of my chest squeezing and it got to the point i'm like i think i'm about to die i get up i go to the front near coche because they always have like the emergency people there so i'm like bro i think i'm having a heart attack he like sit down long story shirt he's like you have an acid reflux from that little caesar's by the way

01:06:49 - 01:06:53 | Speaker 5:

where's the defibrillator in this building because we need to know what's up judy hi

01:06:53 - 01:07:01 | Speaker 2:

hey i was trying to listen to the story unfold what what did what was the final diagnosis with

01:07:01 - 01:07:05 | Speaker 6:

01:07:05 - 01:07:19 | Speaker 2:

around i was gonna say when you it sounds like a i'm a doctor of chiropractic but it sounds like a classic sign when you take a deep breath you're turning and rolling around that there's a rib out of alignment so you might want to get that checked out but i didn't hear what the whole story what

01:07:19 - 01:07:24 | Speaker 5:

do you think about the fact that he eats sweet water wings seven nights a week that could be a

01:07:24 - 01:07:45 | Speaker 1:

little bit of a problem too uh what's up alexandra um i was just gonna say i can relate to kevin um i'm going through a lot right now and i just have these moments to where i have like anxiety really bad i honestly thought i was having a heart attack i'm like i was so scared but it was just anxiety Oh, yeah.

01:07:45 - 01:07:46 | Speaker 5:

There's a lot.

01:07:46 - 01:07:47 | Speaker 1:

That can hit your heart.

01:07:47 - 01:07:49 | Speaker 5:

Are you feeling better now or no?

01:07:52 - 01:07:58 | Speaker 1:

Not honestly, no, only because of my situation that I'm in. But, I mean, I'm trying my best.

01:07:58 - 01:08:14 | Speaker 5:

Oh, well, you know what? That's all you can do sometimes. I saw something over the break that said if you're in the middle of an anxiety attack, some of the best things to do is read poetry or the Bible. They said that literally those are two things that can help you. or Sweetwater Wings.

01:08:14 - 01:08:16 | Speaker 6:

I mean, that'll work every time.

01:08:16 - 01:08:22 | Speaker 5:

Mojo of the Morning Misfit Baby Leg Jay only calls us at this time of the morning for some reason, everybody. What's up, Jay?

01:08:23 - 01:08:39 | Speaker 4:

That's because after I get off the phone with y'all, I go straight to the crate and be working all day long. Yeah, what's up? Happy New Year to everybody and all that stuff. Cav, I think Nicola's is better than Sweetwater's for one. Straight up? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

01:08:39 - 01:08:41 | Speaker 6:

My mama loves Nicola's.

01:08:41 - 01:09:26 | Speaker 4:

I love Nicola's number two. So I had a big girl. She was actually bigger than me, but she's, you know, beautiful face, nice spirit. So we did something right. And when I say the pain was real, I don't know if it was a pull-up muscle. I know it was a cramping back in my leg. So by the time I was done, I was looking like a hood ornament. Because I tried to get it out. I had to beat my leg because you could actually see it, like, driving. I was literally in tears trying to get it to go away. I don't know about this. That was Charlie Wars. Oh, my. That's what it was. Charlie Wars. That's what it was called.

01:09:26 - 01:09:31 | Speaker 3:

But you could see it. You could see your leg, like, being disformed. Oh, I see this happen before.

01:09:32 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 4:

All right. You could actually see that muscle twitching.

01:09:35 - 01:09:39 | Speaker 3:

Where did the girl come into this story? Why was that an important piece of this? It didn't.

01:09:39 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Because that's how I got it. That's how I got it.

01:09:43 - 01:09:46 | Speaker 1:

You're just sleeping with your girlfriend. You know Kev.

01:09:47 - 01:10:00 | Speaker 3:

Hey, Kev knows. He always dresses classy. He's sometimes sassy and secretly smart-assy. This is Mojo in the Morning. A friendly note to the competition. You all can kiss our asses.

01:10:00 - 01:11:10 | Speaker 2:

I feel better. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. Any bouncers listen to this show? I know it's a holiday today. It's a drinking holiday. So if you are, you're probably working. It might be tough for you to call in. Maybe you can call in if you've got a personal story to this one. I'd like to know why you got kicked out of the bar. What was the reason that you got kicked out of the bar? And if you are somebody that has ever been kicked out of a bar or had a friend that was kicked out, call us up and tell us why they were kicked out. A friend of mine was in Chicago over the weekend checking out the St. Patrick's Day fun, watching them dye the river green and everything like that, and then going out to bars and got kicked out of a bar. This is the worst part of the whole thing. He was kicked out and had to wait out in front of the bar for his friends to come outside. He didn't want to leave and go back to this hotel that he was staying at because he was visiting from here. His friends all stayed in the bar because they didn't want to leave because it was near impossible to find a bar to go into because everything was so packed.

01:11:10 - 01:11:11 | Speaker 3:

Oh, bad friends.

01:11:12 - 01:12:05 | Speaker 2:

His reasoning for getting kicked out of the bar, he was barking and meowing at girls. And the bouncers got complaints. And he was so drunk that I guess there were some moments where he found himself making noises. Every time a girl would walk by, he would either go woof woof or meow, and the bouncer didn't want any part of that. So he was barking if they were ugly and meowing if they were fine? He actually supposedly wasn't doing it for any particular reason. And he said he was making the noises, but it would make sense, right? Maybe if he got home alone, he was like, woof. But that was for good reason, right? Yeah. The woof. No, that was for bad reason. Oh, it was? She looked like a dog. Oh, really? Okay. Megan, would you be offended if a guy was barking or meowing at you?

01:12:05 - 01:12:19 | Speaker 3:

So immediately when this started, I thought, bad friends because you got to stick with your buddy if he gets let go. Now I'm saying he was a bad friend. If you're acting that annoying and that creepy, I'm not having your back. You go figure out your evening. Get away.

01:12:19 - 01:12:25 | Speaker 2:

And it probably took forever for them to get in there. Oh, yeah. I got to leave immediately because you're out here fooling.

01:12:25 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 3:

So I had his side at first, and then you gave me a lick of context, and now I am not on his side at all.

01:12:32 - 01:12:34 | Speaker 2:

I'll be honest with you. I think it's pretty damn funny. I think it's so funny.

01:12:35 - 01:12:44 | Speaker 3:

You do? If you were at a bar and a drunk guy was barking and meowing at all the girls, you would think that was funny? I don't know. I don't know why that makes me laugh.

01:12:44 - 01:12:47 | Speaker 2:

She's got a personality, Megan. She's got a sense of humor.

01:12:47 - 01:12:48 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't?

01:12:48 - 01:12:50 | Speaker 2:

Honestly, you know what I would do?

01:12:50 - 01:12:53 | Speaker 3:

You'd bark back. I would bark right back at him. No, you would not.

01:12:53 - 01:13:11 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I would. Or growl. I can see that. I would not growl. I would bark. I can see you doing that. Y'all, no. Y'all lie. I wouldn't meow. I wouldn't growl. Come on. I would bark right back. You know I would. I don't think you would. I would. I want to see you in this situation because I would die.

01:13:12 - 01:13:27 | Speaker 2:

Let's all go. Where do you guys want to go? Going to go to Ms. Shane's or where should we go today? Should we go have a little celebration? Well, I'll bark. Whoever gets barked back at first wins. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Why did you get kicked out of the bar? Haley, why did you get kicked out?

01:13:29 - 01:13:35 | Speaker 1:

Because my friend peed in the sink in the utility closet. That'll do it.

01:13:35 - 01:13:39 | Speaker 2:

That'll do it. Was there a long line to get into the bathroom?

01:13:40 - 01:13:45 | Speaker 1:

No, she was just that drunk that she was confused and actually thought she was in the bathroom.

01:13:45 - 01:13:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no. What was this? What place was it at?

01:13:50 - 01:14:06 | Speaker 1:

Oh, it was, like, in a really small town. So, like, we already got looks when we walked in because we were probably 10, at least 10 years younger than everybody in the bar as far as, like, the regulars go. So I think they were already pissed that we were there, and then that just didn't help our cause.

01:14:06 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 2:

What's the name of the bar that we used to do things at in Royal Oak? And it had, like, the top roof. Remember that place?

01:14:14 - 01:14:14 | Speaker 1:

Like Woody's?

01:14:14 - 01:14:43 | Speaker 2:

Woody's. Wild Woody's? I, the, the, the women's restroom was right there, like right off the bar on the first floor, the first level in there. And I saw a woman on all fours one time and she was pretending she was an animal peeing and she literally had her pants down peeing. I would literally, you look in and they're doing the thing and later they're carrying her out. Like, Oh my God. They had some strong drinks. Is it still around? I don't know. Is Woody still here? No, I think it's been a couple of things.

01:14:43 - 01:14:44 | Speaker 4:

I haven't been to Raleigh in a minute.

01:14:44 - 01:14:45 | Speaker 2:

Ella, what's up?

01:14:46 - 01:15:07 | Speaker 4:

Hey, so this was like 10 years ago, maybe a little bit more on St. Patrick's Day, but I got so drunk, I ended up passing out face first into a wet burrito, and so, yeah, I got kicked out. face first in a burrito oh my gosh wow weird in a wet one isn't that called a chimichanga or what

01:15:07 - 01:15:14 | Speaker 2:

is that called it was like yeah the cheese sauce all over it yep where his cop was tapping me on

01:15:14 - 01:15:45 | Speaker 4:

the shoulder like you gotta leave you know what's funny i don't think i've ever been that drunk like i don't like no i think i've been drunk where i couldn't stand up and i had to like sit down and just kind of like wait it out a little bit but i don't think i've ever been that drunk where literally i i passed out into my food you know a question for you ella we're having a debate between the ladies here this morning if a guy were to bark or meow at you in in a bar would you be upset by that or would that be you know something that you would actually find funny

01:15:47 - 01:15:49 | Speaker 2:

i'd bark back let me hear your bark

01:15:49 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 4:

It's a little aggressive A little aggressive Alright we love you Take care of yourself WKQI Detroit

01:16:59 - 01:19:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah. And we've told them that, like, nothing is going to get past Lucy and Smith. So my kids are 10 and 7. Wes's kids are almost 15 and almost 17. So they're high school age. My kids are elementary school ages. And my kids are at that age where like they see and hear it all okay and so um lucy and smith know that i am a million percent against smoking and so anytime they see somebody smoking or vaping they make a comment or they like give a death stare or in rare occasions and i've talked about this before smith will yell you're gonna die if you see somebody smoking which i've really had to say you can't do that it is not polite and it scares people but at least they know do not smoke mom is very against it so the other day he came up to wes and i and he had this really serious look on his face and he said he needed to tell us something and he wanted to tell it to us but he didn't want to be a tattletale and we're like well you know if somebody is in trouble or in danger it's not being a tattletale you're doing a really good thing and so he told us that kieran who is wes's son had a vape in his car a pink vape and i'm thinking there is no way like this kid is so against vaping and smoking and he hates when it's good athlete yeah he's an athlete i'm like there we've talked about this with him so many times i'm like there's no way and smith was like well you know when he took us to breakfast the other day he had it in the front of his car and he described it and he was like he was holding it in his fingers the whole time we were driving and i'm like what the heck like it sounded so legit so wes was like okay i'm gonna go talk to karen about it went and talked to him about it turns out it was a it's a zippo lighter because karen loves to camp and so he has it for you know camping stuff and smith thought it was a vape and came to us to tell on him

01:19:11 - 01:19:55 | Speaker 4:

nothing's getting past you him nothing you you had younger siblings right so yeah i'm the oldest of three girls so you knew what it was like to have younger siblings that were always in your business yes isn't that kind of wild that's funny because all i keep thinking of in my family is that uh when luke came around jacob was so pissed because he could and joe too but could never get buy anything because the younger sibling is always the one that's going to come and tell you stuff. That's funny. 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 is the telephone number. I always love the tattletale the kid that will tattle on the other. You know that he is Smith is going to be like the neighborhood watch for you guys.

01:19:55 - 01:19:58 | Speaker 1:

A million percent. He's going to be the most active on our neighborhood Facebook page.

01:20:00 - 01:20:07 | Speaker 2:

The worst is, I bet you Karen probably is like, wait a second. He's like, I swear, I swear.

01:20:07 - 01:20:12 | Speaker 5:

And he showed it to us and I'm like, oh my God, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.

01:20:12 - 01:20:22 | Speaker 6:

If I'm Karen, I'm glad this situation happened where it was one of those things where I know I didn't do anything wrong. Because now I know to watch out what I do around Smith. I know.

01:20:23 - 01:20:24 | Speaker 5:

I'm hiding and hide it well.

01:20:26 - 01:20:29 | Speaker 2:

Karen needs to say, I don't vape. I just do those things.

01:20:29 - 01:20:33 | Speaker 5:

Dude, this poor kid, no, he does not.

01:20:33 - 01:20:34 | Speaker 2:

I'm into smokeless.

01:20:34 - 01:20:42 | Speaker 5:

He does not. This poor kid, though, he had his girlfriend over the other night, and Smith sat there with binoculars watching him in the other room. I'm like.

01:20:42 - 01:21:01 | Speaker 2:

When Joey would bring home girlfriends, Chelsea and I would send Luke downstairs to hide behind the couch and to be like the, they better not be touching uglies. You know what I mean? I don't want him all of a sudden doing anything downstairs. And all of a sudden, you'd hear the scream. You'd go, Mom!

01:21:01 - 01:21:19 | Speaker 6:

Can you please get him out of here? I feel like I was blessed, man. My little sister did not snitch on me. Really? I used to irritate her to no avail. Like, there are some real moments where I got on her nerves. But luckily, she never told on me or anything like that. Like, I was blessed. You owe her.

01:21:20 - 01:22:43 | Speaker 2:

Oh, I was the... I always told on my brother, Bill. For some reason, and that's why Bill probably, to this day, you know has a little animosity towards me but i would tell everything on bill but bill had a lot of stuff to tell on like bill was literally he would sneak we shared a room together he would second story building or or house he would jump out the window at night to go see his friends and then at night he would sneak in through the the garage and try to get in that way without it you know we didn't have alarms or anything like that at that time mojo what's the age gap between you and your brother bill and i are four years different from each other what about you and your sister uh sometimes four okay okay yeah but i also had a sister that was 13 years older than me so i had an i had an older sister that was a lot older than me yeah and i remember when she would bring boyfriends and stuff over to the house all i i mean literally all i wanted to do is hang out with them there was something about that where you wanted to just kind of hang out so this is wild it's so wild i i think of for uh you know the kids to all of a sudden one day you now have a family of a bunch of younger and older siblings yeah isn't that crazy that's kind of cool like i don't know what it is but as a kid like as much as you'd probably not want to have you know somebody else maybe getting attention and stuff like that but it's kind of cool that all of a sudden it's like your family grows a little bit especially if you only had two or another one other person

01:22:43 - 01:22:55 | Speaker 5:

yeah well and now they have somebody to drive them oh yeah ice cream to you know that's the coolest yeah nobody had to go through the baby phase so you got like cool younger siblings without having to stay up all night to the crying.

01:22:55 - 01:22:57 | Speaker 2:

In fact. What's up, Nick? How you doing?

01:22:58 - 01:22:59 | Speaker 4:

Good. How are you? Good morning.

01:22:59 - 01:23:00 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. What's going on?

01:23:02 - 01:23:25 | Speaker 4:

First off, long-time listener. First time caller. Welcome, buddy. Nick's on a boat. And so I'm the youngest out of 10 kids, so I got to see. So I used to be the snitch, and my mom was a Jehovah's Witness growing up, and my siblings, of course, I wasn't allowed to go out for Halloween, but they did, and I totally snitched on them. Oh, no. And they were so mad.

01:23:26 - 01:23:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, boy. You better be careful. I know. You get your ass whooped over something like that.

01:23:32 - 01:23:34 | Speaker 4:

Right. Yeah, they totally did.

01:23:34 - 01:23:39 | Speaker 2:

And having a Jehovah's Witness mom, too, is very strict. So what's going on, Rob?

01:23:40 - 01:23:45 | Speaker 3:

Not too much. I used to pay off my ex-girlfriend's little sister to keep her mouth shut.

01:23:45 - 01:23:47 | Speaker 2:

What would you have to pay, like money?

01:23:48 - 01:23:51 | Speaker 3:

Absolutely, yeah, like 20, 30 bucks. Yeah. That's a lot.

01:23:52 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 2:

Dude, wait, what were you doing with your ex-girlfriend?

01:23:55 - 01:23:56 | Speaker 6:

Was it worth 20, 30?

01:23:56 - 01:23:59 | Speaker 3:

A lot more than we should have done.

01:24:01 - 01:24:08 | Speaker 1:

Dog. How happy does it make me to listen to Mojo in the morning? I'd say happier than Shannon checking out a naked pic of Ryan Gosling.

01:24:08 - 01:24:10 | Speaker 6:

Channel 955.

01:24:11 - 01:24:13 | Speaker 1:

It's the second date update on Mojo in the morning.

01:24:14 - 01:24:32 | Speaker 2:

Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out this morning with the second date update. So Jeremy said he took her out for dinner, a nice dinner, had a good evening or a good date, and she's not calling him back. And he wants to know what's going on. Where'd you guys go to eat?

01:24:33 - 01:24:35 | Speaker 3:

We went to J. Alexander's.

01:24:35 - 01:24:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Which one did you go to?

01:24:37 - 01:24:38 | Speaker 3:

The one at Somerset.

01:24:39 - 01:24:49 | Speaker 2:

Oh, a little. Okay. All right. So Somerset is the mall in the Detroit area, but I love J. Alexander's. Love me some J. Alexander's. And now you're not getting a call back?

01:24:49 - 01:24:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I'm just very, very confused

01:24:52 - 01:25:04 | Speaker 2:

So you said that she was Like great on the date Like everything was going good And then all of a sudden you guys say goodbye to each other do you guys kiss goodbye or how do you guys say goodbye to

01:25:04 - 01:25:17 | Speaker 3:

each other and what do you say uh no we didn't we didn't kiss goodbye uh we did a very very like very lovey hug i guess you could call it okay uh you know you don't want to go you don't want

01:25:17 - 01:25:24 | Speaker 2:

to go too forward on the first date but okay and did you guys meet uh on hinge or bumble or one of

01:25:24 - 01:25:30 | Speaker 3:

those yeah we met on hinge okay it's a good one to meet people by the way i'm hearing a lot of

01:25:30 - 01:25:54 | Speaker 2:

positives on on hinge lately there's some some real positives about the i think i think they've updated uh their inventory i think i think the inventory of singles is better on hinge right now um on the phone with us is bethany and she's agreed to go on the radio with us hi bethany hi how's it going good bethany say hello to jeremy

01:25:54 - 01:26:04 | Speaker 3:

hello hi jeremy hey bethany uh long time no hear i know good to hear your voice

01:26:04 - 01:26:09 | Speaker 2:

by the way it sounds a little uh like you're embarrassed were you not calling

01:26:09 - 01:26:15 | Speaker 1:

jeremy on purpose or oh no no you know it's just a little awkward to talk about

01:26:16 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 2:

What's awkward about it? It sounded like you guys had a good date. All he told us was that you guys went to eat.

01:26:22 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, yeah. We met up. We went to Jay's at Somerset. And, I mean, it was a nice date. There were just things about his vibe and his personality that I didn't feel super compatible with. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Like what? um well he was wearing he was wearing like a super expensive jacket and like a really nice watch and um i could just tell that he was super wealthy and he talked a lot on the date about how rich he was and how wealthy his family was he talked a lot about being rich

01:27:02 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 2:

yeah that doesn't sound like conversation though that you just like randomly bring up what what What was the context of you talking about this?

01:27:12 - 01:27:33 | Speaker 1:

Well, he was telling me about his job, and then he would show me his watch, and then he'd be like, you should come see my apartment at some point. You know, I have like a plasma screen TV or whatever. It was like a lot of talking about material things, and he seemed very happy about his wealth, which was great, but it just was not my vibe.

01:27:34 - 01:27:36 | Speaker 2:

Okay. That seems kind of douchey. Like just braggy. Yeah.

01:27:37 - 01:27:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then, you know, that was fine, but then after we ate, we walked around the mall, and we got into kind of the more expensive areas, and he just really wanted to buy me stuff. And that was super generous, but I just was not into that. I don't know. It's not my vibe.

01:27:59 - 01:28:01 | Speaker 2:

Did he buy you anything? Right. Did you accept?

01:28:02 - 01:28:11 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. He bought me a couple things, and I was like, thank you so much. I said, you did not need to do that. And he was like, no, no, no, you need it. You need it.

01:28:11 - 01:28:14 | Speaker 2:

Where did you buy her? Where did you buy her?

01:28:16 - 01:28:18 | Speaker 3:

I bought her a couple things from Louie.

01:28:19 - 01:28:21 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Oh, he's going crazy.

01:28:21 - 01:28:42 | Speaker 3:

Wait, on a first date? Yeah. This is all coming. This is like hitting me from the side. I'm surprised that this is the reason why I'm not getting a call back. Like, I thought it was a really nice first date. Like, I bought you a bunch of things from Louie. As far as I'm concerned, I upgraded you.

01:28:43 - 01:28:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

01:28:44 - 01:28:45 | Speaker 3:

Hey, what did he say? Wait, what did you say?

01:28:46 - 01:28:47 | Speaker 2:

I'm going to let him say it. Say it again. What did he say?

01:28:47 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 3:

Say it again. As far as I'm concerned, I upgraded her.

01:28:51 - 01:28:51 | Speaker 2:

Oh.

01:28:52 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 4:

Okay. See. Yeah. You had me at that. Go on, Shannon.

01:28:55 - 01:29:03 | Speaker 2:

I was thinking to myself, oh, he sounds like a nice guy. He seems very generous. But you just say you upgraded her is kind of, I don't know. She was bad.

01:29:03 - 01:29:51 | Speaker 4:

look shannon looking hot right now no hot like like you mad oh well i just feel and i know that we're gonna have the people that are like hey i'm single i would love to go get a louis or whatever but i i can see where bethany was very turned off by yeah that that attitude and that behavior like it's you don't douchebag i think you don't want somebody that is so in your face with all of that stuff and the comment about you upgrading her just real that I'm good that was it not a great one it was very generous and I think your intention you know your heart was good but I get it like I don't want to hear somebody talk about how much money they have or tell me about how much money their watch cost I don't care

01:29:51 - 01:30:00 | Speaker 2:

I don't know if his heart was in a good place because if he coming from the perspective of upgrading her Yeah, you're right. You're right.

01:30:00 - 01:30:01 | Unknown:

You know what I mean?

01:30:00 - 01:30:02 | Speaker 3:

Listener Alicia. What did you want to say, Alicia?

01:30:03 - 01:30:09 | Speaker 7:

Hey, guys. Half jokingly, half seriously said Lydia in Texas. Give me his number.

01:30:11 - 01:30:14 | Speaker 3:

There you go. Would you like something from Louie?

01:30:15 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 7:

On a first date? I mean, that's extremely flattering. I can see how it would make somebody feel uncomfortable, but also I feel like you have to express that.

01:30:25 - 01:30:25 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:30:25 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 3:

Why did you not just say, this seems uncomfortable and I don't want anything? Like, why did you accept that whatever it was at Louie?

01:30:34 - 01:30:44 | Speaker 1:

I was just nervous. I felt awkward. I didn't want to call him out for it. And he seemed very proud of his money. So I didn't want to, like, criticize him on the spot, you know? Typical response.

01:30:45 - 01:30:50 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my God, bro. Typical in what way?

01:30:51 - 01:30:53 | Speaker 9:

Typical response from a simple woman.

01:30:54 - 01:30:54 | Speaker 3:

Wow.

01:30:55 - 01:30:58 | Speaker 9:

So here it comes. Wow. Here it comes. Yeah. See, this is not.

01:31:00 - 01:31:02 | Speaker 3:

How much money does your family have? I would like to know.

01:31:03 - 01:31:06 | Speaker 9:

I don't really want to disclose that publicly.

01:31:06 - 01:31:11 | Speaker 3:

No. How much money does Jeremy's family have that he sat there and was talking about how wealthy. Do you work for your dad?

01:31:13 - 01:31:21 | Speaker 9:

I don't really care to discuss those things. I'm very fortunate, and I thought things were going well, and I guess not.

01:31:21 - 01:31:25 | Speaker 3:

Okay. Brandy, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update. What did you want to say?

01:31:25 - 01:31:44 | Speaker 6:

Hey, typically guys that display all of their wealth, they're kind of douchebags deep down on the inside. I feel like he's trying to reel her in and sink her or whatever. He's going to buy her love and affection and then turn into a douchebag once he has her.

01:31:45 - 01:31:46 | Speaker 2:

Paging doctor douchebag.

01:31:48 - 01:32:06 | Speaker 3:

No, I think that it doesn't come across good. Like, if this was that he took her out for dinner, spent a lot of money on her, then said, hey, I want to buy you something. Okay, cool. But to talk about how much money you have, then to say on the radio just what he said, I know.

01:32:06 - 01:32:18 | Speaker 5:

It's a very different vibe. That's how I started in Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Is that what it was? He started whining, Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Really? Blair Underwood character. He was whining and dying, and he got crazy as soon as he got it.

01:32:19 - 01:32:21 | Speaker 3:

Really? He's like, then he becomes possessive.

01:32:21 - 01:32:26 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's what it meant. When Brandy said he'll change once he had, that's the person I thought of.

01:32:26 - 01:32:29 | Speaker 3:

That's what it was. What's up, Paul? How you doing? Shout out to Tyler Perry.

01:32:29 - 01:32:31 | Speaker 8:

Hey, good morning, guys. What's up?

01:32:31 - 01:32:32 | Speaker 3:

What's going on?

01:32:33 - 01:32:41 | Speaker 8:

Hey, I just wanted to say, I know this isn't an M-I-D-A hole, but after that guy's comment about upgrading here, I just had to call him and say that that guy's the A-hole.

01:32:42 - 01:33:10 | Speaker 3:

You know what? That is actually true. This is not a second date update that we're doing here right now. We have just gotten into an episode of our Tuesday morning features, the Amity the A-Hole. Yeah, I don't know about you, but what's the most expensive thing that you did for a date? I think for me, it was maybe appetizers and dessert. By the way, speaking of that, when you guys were at Jay Alexander's, did you guys get the spinach cheese dip?

01:33:11 - 01:33:12 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, we did.

01:33:13 - 01:33:13 | Speaker 3:

Did you? Okay.

01:33:13 - 01:33:15 | Speaker 7:

It is the best.

01:33:15 - 01:33:18 | Speaker 9:

It is the best. And they'll bring you extra chips, too.

01:33:18 - 01:33:27 | Speaker 3:

What do you think, I'm cheap? That's absolutely what I bought. What's happening? How you doing, Ron? I'm good. What's going on?

01:33:28 - 01:33:34 | Speaker 4:

I hope this guy finds him a nice, beautiful gold digger that takes him for half. That's what he sounds like he needs.

01:33:34 - 01:33:38 | Speaker 3:

You need to be on that app that's got all the rich people on it.

01:33:39 - 01:33:45 | Speaker 4:

I mean, because apparently that's the only thing he brings to the table is money. so that find somebody that's all they want.

01:33:46 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. He needs to be on Raya, Raya, whatever it is. Ann, what's up?

01:33:52 - 01:33:53 | Speaker 7:

Hello. Can you hear me?

01:33:53 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 3:

I got you. Check on one, two.

01:33:55 - 01:34:02 | Speaker 7:

Hi. I'm just wondering, is it your money or is it your daddy's money you're spending? I think this is so funny.

01:34:03 - 01:34:05 | Speaker 9:

It's family money. That's all you need to know.

01:34:05 - 01:34:08 | Speaker 7:

Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay, so it sounds like you don't work.

01:34:09 - 01:34:10 | Speaker 9:

And it sounds like you don't either.

01:34:12 - 01:34:12 | Speaker 7:

Okay.

01:34:13 - 01:34:19 | Speaker 3:

You have a little penis. All right, guys, no seconds.

01:34:19 - 01:34:24 | Speaker 7:

But a really expensive watch. Little penis, big, fancy watch.

01:34:24 - 01:34:30 | Speaker 3:

If you would like to take a guy out, I would love to do some shopping with you. I'll see you later this week.

01:34:30 - 01:34:37 | Speaker 2:

This is the home of the dirty on the 30. Throwback, throwdown. Second date update. In War of the Roses, this is Mojo in the Morning.

01:34:43 - 01:35:00 | Speaker 3:

It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text is 95500. So I had kind of a thing happen yesterday that made my wife, like, have to, like, speak up to me about it.

01:35:00 - 01:36:49 | Speaker 1:

something where Chelsea referred to me as a creeper and usually she's not like ever calling me a creeper matter of fact when you guys have said before oh that's creepy she gets very upset like she's very protective of me and my reputation because she knows that I say things for the radio but I'm not a creepy person yeah although yesterday I think I was a creepy person from what she said so we were sitting around the house and we're just kind of hanging out and she's on her phone and she's scrolling through social media and out of the blue she goes oh you are a creeper and I said what are you talking about like I'm at that moment right there I'm going oh crap what did I do and am I getting caught like I honestly was like really fearful at that moment I'm thinking myself oh Jesus Waddell um she said that I liked from uh Joe from the Joe show you know Joe's my son joe ashley jed and terry over on the joe show they were in the afternoons on channel 955 but mornings on tampa i liked a post that was put up on their social media that was a post of terry from their show who for the listeners that don't know who terry is terry is like a 22 year old uh girl that works on the show she's kind of like to joe show like what lydia is to our show she produces and answers the phones and does all the rest of that stuff and she posted a bunch of photos of herself in her bathing suits and her dance that she does for uh a college in uh in florida and chelsea says i look creepy by by liking that post i don't think so am i creepy for liking the post she have a reason why she yeah she said she said well did you see the post Did you see the photo? I'm going to go look at it now.

01:36:49 - 01:36:54 | Speaker 3:

I feel like you set us up at the beginning of this, though, by saying Chelsea would get mad at us, so I don't want to answer.

01:36:54 - 01:37:09 | Speaker 1:

No, no, well, I did kind of. Live with Joe's show, if you go on there, it's actually one of their posts that's like pinned up at the top of the page or right up at the top of the page. But it's Terry. Oh, right here with the blue bottom? It's Terry. Yeah, that's Terry. Double tap.

01:37:10 - 01:37:25 | Speaker 2:

I mean, she is absolutely beautiful. It's a hot photo. So I, yeah, I kind of agree with Chelsea. You think that's really? Yeah. But it's Terry, though. She's like a daughter to me. I understand that. That's even worse. But it's the way that she's posing and the fact that she's wearing a bikini.

01:37:26 - 01:37:27 | Speaker 1:

Hold on. Hold on. The Joe show's on.

01:37:27 - 01:37:28 | Speaker 2:

You want to have this opinion?

01:37:28 - 01:37:33 | Speaker 1:

The Joe show's on with us right now. Is it the whole show or just Terry?

01:37:33 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 2:

It's just me. Oh, my God. Terry, this photo is, I mean, girl, you're hot. Ten out of ten.

01:37:39 - 01:37:39 | Speaker 1:

Terry.

01:37:39 - 01:37:40 | Speaker 3:

Thank you.

01:37:41 - 01:37:56 | Speaker 1:

Terry, Chelsea thinks that I'm a creeper, so I had to unlike it. I don't know if you could even tell, but I had to officially unlike the thing I did. I, I, I had to be very careful about it because I didn't want it outward to look other people that I was liking your, your picture.

01:37:56 - 01:38:05 | Speaker 3:

Like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, yeah. So, um, oh my gosh, I didn't, I don't think you're creepy for, you know, I didn't take

01:38:05 - 01:38:14 | Speaker 1:

it that way, but do you have like, do any of your parents' friends like your posts that you put up on social media? Like any of your dad's buddies? Oh yeah.

01:38:14 - 01:38:30 | Speaker 3:

Yep. that's weird yeah how do you feel about that um honestly i feel like because i know mojo i don't i don't take it weird from you but from them yeah it's a little weird okay well i and also i have to

01:38:30 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 1:

kind of monitor your guys social media to you know to help you guys and i do that that's creepy

01:38:35 - 01:38:41 | Speaker 3:

there's a way to monitor without liking you just use your eyes i'm watching for research

01:38:41 - 01:38:46 | Speaker 1:

purpose. It is kind of weird. I was going to, I was trying to get Chelsea to come on with

01:38:46 - 01:38:50 | Speaker 3:

us, but she's at an appointment right now. Oh, she is. Yeah. We're just working on the

01:38:50 - 01:39:42 | Speaker 1:

phones. Her phone's going straight to voicemail. Oh, okay. Terry's quite the dancer though. Cause I, but where were, what school did you dance at? And you're with Mojo. Which is University of South Florida. Okay. Why are we echoing back at ourselves today? I don't know it's it's happened a couple of times today i don't know maybe i'm screwing something up or doing something different um uh god this is oh hello hello i'm confusing myself hold on i'm pausing for chelsea i wanted to ask the listeners this is it ever uncomfortable if somebody likes one of your like uh thirst trappy type photos and the person is like one of your older parents name you know friends or if it's like your boss like can your boss like that like did tone or Here you go. Here's one. Did Tommy Chuck like it? Your PD.

01:39:43 - 01:39:45 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. I would have to check. I doubt it, though.

01:39:45 - 01:39:50 | Speaker 1:

Go back and look. I want to see who the people are that liked it. Because I want to know. I bet you Kev liked it.

01:39:51 - 01:39:52 | Speaker 2:

I just did. He just did. Yeah, yeah.

01:39:53 - 01:39:53 | Speaker 1:

Great photo.

01:39:54 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 2:

Tommy did not like it. Nice to meet you, by the way. He knows better.

01:39:56 - 01:39:57 | Speaker 1:

He's not on there at all?

01:39:57 - 01:39:59 | Speaker 2:

Nice to meet you. No. Tommy.

01:40:00 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 5:

did not like it oh my gosh i'm about to follow you real quick terry oh don't don't do it terry

01:40:06 - 01:40:19 | Speaker 4:

radio friends no don't don't do it because i'm going to tell you something about uh about this guy he is a dirty dirty man and you do not want any part of this guy okay let her find out for

01:40:19 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 5:

herself judge for yourself terry yeah don't listen to the old guy who's creeping on your

01:40:25 - 01:40:28 | Speaker 4:

Here we go. I got Chelsea right here. I think that's right there. Pick her up.

01:40:28 - 01:40:29 | Unknown:

Pick her up.

01:40:31 - 01:40:32 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea?

01:40:33 - 01:40:33 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

01:40:33 - 01:40:35 | Speaker 4:

Hey, say hi to Terry from Joe Show.

01:40:36 - 01:40:37 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Terry.

01:40:38 - 01:40:39 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:40:41 - 01:40:46 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea, will you explain why I'm creepy for liking this? Terry said that she doesn't find it creepy at all.

01:40:46 - 01:40:54 | Speaker 6:

It is. Terry, it's creepy. You can just say it's creepy. Totally fine. He's too old to be liking your stuff. Creepy.

01:40:56 - 01:40:57 | Speaker 4:

Well, did you like it, Chelsea?

01:40:58 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 6:

I'm going to say you're not wrong, but I'm also not going to say you're right. I'm the middle person on this. Oh, Terry, you don't know me well enough. It is that I'm right.

01:41:07 - 01:41:07 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

01:41:08 - 01:41:12 | Speaker 6:

You're right, Chelsea. You're right. Yes, I'm Joey. I'm always right.

01:41:13 - 01:41:19 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Charles, have you ever noticed me liking other people's photos?

01:41:20 - 01:41:27 | Speaker 6:

Honestly, I don't really pay attention. And I think Terri is a beautiful young girl.

01:41:27 - 01:41:28 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

01:41:28 - 01:41:50 | Speaker 6:

Stunningly beautiful. Not only is she beautiful physically, she is, like, kind and sweet. I love Terri. So I just happened to see her post, and then I think she liked by, you know, your personal page. I was like, but we were in the same room. I said, you are such a creep. That's a creep.

01:41:50 - 01:41:55 | Speaker 4:

But I liked it on Joe's page. I didn't like it on Terry's page.

01:41:56 - 01:42:08 | Speaker 6:

She's tagged on both. You can like whatever you like. I just, you know, you got to watch out. You're older. You're, looks creepy. You know, just trying to keep you in line.

01:42:08 - 01:42:14 | Speaker 4:

Let's take the focus off me. Do you know that Kevin right now is deep diving on Terry's page at this moment?

01:42:15 - 01:42:16 | Unknown:

That's not true.

01:42:17 - 01:42:19 | Speaker 6:

That's a little weird. That's a little weird right now.

01:42:19 - 01:42:26 | Speaker 5:

That's not true. She's deep diving. I'm actually in my DMs. Right under her. Right under her.

01:42:26 - 01:42:32 | Speaker 2:

Terry, don't respond to his DMs for your own time. You all just allowed him to do that? I promise I won't.

01:42:33 - 01:42:40 | Speaker 5:

Y'all just allowed him to switch it like that? Y'all film his tricks? Because everybody in this room is that creeper. It's not true.

01:42:41 - 01:42:48 | Speaker 4:

All right, Terry, what is your personal social media? If there are any creepy guys out there that want to follow you.

01:42:48 - 01:42:50 | Speaker 2:

It's at Terry Garrish

01:42:50 - 01:42:57 | Speaker 4:

So it's T-E-R-I-G-E What is it? R-R-I How do you know that?

01:42:57 - 01:42:59 | Speaker 2:

He knows, he knows

01:42:59 - 01:43:01 | Speaker 6:

You know it

01:43:01 - 01:43:28 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea, have a call with Kevin later today I think you need to have a call with him We're supposed to go to lunch, Chelsea Wait a second, Kevin's taking me to lunch today Aren't you? Yeah You forgot about that Kevin invited me to lunch I got a weird feeling that I'm going to be eating wings for some reason. Would you like wings? No, I wanted a steak. We're going to Hooters before they close. Oh, God. All right, we'll talk to you later, guys. See ya.

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:43:32 - 01:44:09 | Speaker 2:

Third dirty of the day, I like it. Let's go, Megan. So Kim Kardashian is unfortunately going to have to relive her Paris robbery because she's going to take the stand at the trial of a Parisian underground gang alleged to have been behind that robbery she experienced um that trial is going to be happening in france in may and like i said she will be testifying in front of a jury if you don't remember what happened um one of my favorite shows ever truly of all time was netflix's um david letterman's my next guest needs no introduction and kim kardashian really recapped in detail what

01:44:09 - 01:44:20 | Speaker 1:

happened for the first time on that show the robbers are dressed as policemen is that what i infer here policemen with masks on how many were in the room with you just the two but they brought

01:44:20 - 01:44:57 | Speaker 3:

in the concierge from downstairs handcuffed with a gun up to him so they were speaking yelling at me in French and I just sat up and I they kept on saying the ring the ring and I was just so startled I was like you know what like it didn't compute to me for a minute and then the guy goes the ring and i had put it up by the side of my bed so i handed him my ring and then he grabbed me and i was wearing a robe and i wasn't wearing anything under it i don't want to go no no no no

01:45:00 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 1:

right? You want to ruin my makeup? It's fine. The makeup is fine. Okay. And he grabbed me and pulled me towards him, but I wasn't wearing anything underneath. So I was like, okay, this is like the time I'm going to get like, just deal. Like it's, this is, it's going to happen. You know, like, just prepare yourself. So I did. And then, I don't know why I'm crying. I've talked about this before.

01:45:33 - 01:46:29 | Speaker 3:

Just devastating. That trial took over 10 years to go to trial. Like, the case is what I meant to say. It started 10 years ago. That's when that robbery happened. But it took five years of getting evidence for the French officials to start, you know, the court proceedings. Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Markle set the record straight on rumors that they are feuding. We talked about this a bit yesterday. Remember how Meghan Markle had that big controversy over the green waffles for St. Patrick's Day and then everybody was like, oh, Gwyneth Paltrow is calling her out when she's cooking breakfast on her Instagram. Well, they actually decided to team up on Instagram and post a video together. Gwyneth responded to her Instagram story when a fan asked, are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says that you two have. Now, Gwyneth Paltrow replied by saying, I genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever. Then she asked to somebody off screen this.

01:46:30 - 01:46:34 | Speaker 4:

I genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever. Do you understand this?

01:46:36 - 01:49:00 | Speaker 3:

Pans over to Meghan Markle in her kitchen going, huh? And I thought that was a really fun way for both of them to be like, no, we're friends. We're not feuding. It's fine. It's fine. John M. Chu, that name ring a bell? He's done a bunch of big things in the past couple of years, including directing the Wicked movie, and he's also directing the Britney Spears biopic. Well, reports were circulating that celebrities like Ariana Grande or Sabrina Carpenter and Millie Bobby Brown would be playing Britney Spears, and now John M. Chu is coming out and saying, no, no, no, no, none of this is true. Sounds exciting, but have not had one conversation about casting this movie yet. we are way too early in development sorry do we think that's actually true though because they have these conversations before they have people casted and under contract i'm sure he's going out to dinner spending time with everybody so i don't think this is necessarily true i think he's trying to keep it under wraps for now um don't forget though that follow-up to wicked which i did not know it was called i thought they were going to do wicked part one and then wicked part two it's wicked for good uh is going to hit theaters this november so i'm sure he wants to focus on that and hopefully getting a nomination for best director or best picture at the oscars this year because i think he was totally snubbed at the oscars for wicked part one um so i'm sure he just wants to focus on that and then we'll probably get an announcement i wonder if that's why a lot of them didn't win awards because part two i think so and the fact that ariana grande got snubbed for supporting actress is truly wild to me truly wild to me uh and i say that as somebody who watched all the movies and like I'm gonna be real honest I did not go into watching wiki thinking she's gonna win an oscar and then I saw every other supporting actress and I was like oh my god she might actually win an oscar uh jojo siwa oh god I love this girl she's wild uh she's giving her diehard fans the chance of a lifetime you guys to build her set while she's on tour so she just announced like if you have never heard this song this song karma might be my favorite thing she's ever done but uh she is going on a north american tour and one of the vip packages lets fans get an all access pass to the show but not only that they get to get like hard hats and reflective vests because they're going to be working for their 900 vip ticket

01:49:00 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 2:

and you're going to get a kind of like help us set it up and make sure things are right and test out you know drum with me or or the the dj booth with me you're gonna kind of get that then we're doing another one where you just get an exclusive backstage tour um we're this fun thing where you get a little bit of show memorabilia $900 to show up to work before the show her and I sound the

01:49:22 - 01:49:49 | Speaker 3:

same you do her tour kicks off on july 10th and you're welcome for that you can check out all of Today is Dirty by listening to our podcast by searching for Mojo in the Morning on the free iHeartRadio app. I couldn't find the clean version, sorry. I kind of added that.

01:49:53 - 01:49:55 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:50:00 - 01:50:12 | Speaker 4:

Back to Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number 844-MOJO-LIVE. Text 95500. Why are you lying about your age? Megan wants to know right now. What happened, Megan?

01:50:12 - 01:51:23 | Speaker 1:

It makes me, the way you said that makes me think of that song. Why the? You lying. Oh, my God. Quit lying. Lying. That's how I feel about this guy. I was talking to a guy. We were trying to set up a date. And I found out that he started lying to me about something that I find to be really weird just because it was so unimportant. So he told me his age. But here's the thing. I'm not going out with somebody until I stalk you online. And I stalked him online and I found out he's actually five years older than the age that he told me. And I thought, what a weird thing to lie about. Like, first of all, we're both. Well, I'm in my 30s. he said he was in his 30s he's not wait did he like we how old how old is he then he's in his 40s which to me like early 40s is not a big deal like we're not that far apart in age like at the end of the day we are eight years apart that's not insane um but like why why lie about what else are you lying about like what a weird foot to start everything off on and if you guys ever

01:51:23 - 01:51:39 | Speaker 2:

go get drinks together you could just grab his id but what i'm saying is that's something to very easily get busted that's a lie that is so easily busted and it's not like i'm 21 and you're 30 and

01:51:39 - 01:51:44 | Speaker 1:

that might be a big deal like it's our age difference isn't a big deal i wonder if his

01:51:44 - 01:52:06 | Speaker 4:

lies have been going on for a while or if the recent because it is interesting the 40 thing where if you're a guy that's 40 years old, maybe you think that a 30-something-year-old doesn't want to date you or whatever younger, that you want to make yourself 30. But I think, actually, nowadays, it seems like the guys that are in their 40s or even older somehow are getting all these, you know, 20- and 30-year-olds.

01:52:06 - 01:52:21 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you, my Tinder profile set from range is 23, I think, to 45. Oh, really? You'd go that old? I'm with all the smoke. Okay. But my thing is, if you're meeting this guy online... I didn't meet him online. Oh, I thought you said you did.

01:52:21 - 01:53:34 | Speaker 4:

No, it's just in person. Wow. So that's the other thing, too. You can't verbalize your lie. Like you got it. If you do it, you got to make it that you check the wrong box or you put the wrong number in there. All right. Can I throw something out real quick, Meg? Can I throw out the what are you why are you lying about your age, whether you're lying younger or older? And who are you lying to? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Did you know that when I first got into radio, I lied about my age for about four or five years? Because I got in when I was 18, and I was trying to do bar gigs. No. So when I worked at B96 in Chicago, when I was working with George and George McFly and all those guys that were back there, we would do club gigs all the time at different bars. And I told them that I was 21 so that I could get into the bars and work and then finally when i turned 21 everybody was like you're 21 which can we i don't even know what the law is can you work on can you be under 21 i did i worked at a bar under 21 for the radio station yeah yeah so sometimes it does do you remember

01:53:34 - 01:54:03 | Speaker 2:

when i dated somebody that was lying about his age oh my god shannon that was a big one it was like right when i first moved here and he he told me so i was 25 i think at this time and he told me he was 32 and it i believed this for a couple of months until his friends were calling me to help plan his 40th birthday party and i was like wait what are you talking about and that's how i found

01:54:03 - 01:54:07 | Speaker 1:

out that he had lied about his age but i feel like this is the one lie this and like if you

01:54:07 - 01:54:13 | Speaker 4:

have kids or not you're gonna get caught for sure but it changed your opinion of him shannon well

01:54:13 - 01:54:23 | Speaker 2:

because like we just said that makes me go what else are you lying about right and why yeah which there are a few other things i mean i probably wouldn't have dated him if i knew he was 40 but

01:54:23 - 01:54:47 | Speaker 4:

i you know see that's why you love it yeah but there were also a lot of there were a lot of other things yeah there was a lot of lies um 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 text 95500 i can't believe how many people lie making themselves older. This is pretty wild. A lot of people, Mojo, just like you, I'm lying about my age for my work. Can't they figure that out unless you get paid under the table or something?

01:54:48 - 01:55:01 | Speaker 3:

I feel like he didn't verbally lie, but I feel like Zach lied about his age. I had no idea Zach was his age since he told us. I feel like he's been lying to me this whole time. I don't think...

01:55:00 - 01:55:37 | Speaker 5:

he's actually 30 i think zach because doesn't zach play like he's like 19 or something yes it could also be that he's just developed it well that is true but it also could be that you just got done living at your sister's house too yeah like that makes you that comes across like it's like zach you know living in a bunk bed at his sister's house so um what's going on k hey it's mojo in the morning uh megan found out that the guy that she's been hanging out with uh is lying about his age what's up hi good morning how are you we're good k what's going on good well i think

01:55:37 - 01:55:42 | Speaker 1:

it matters um because megan did he tell did you confirm with him his age after you found out it

01:55:42 - 01:55:57 | Speaker 7:

was a lie um no but you can't debate how i found out his age i don't want to get into it it's like personal but like it is factual he lied about his age so it wasn't like a facebook because facebook

01:55:57 - 01:56:16 | Speaker 1:

oh okay my second they got an age requirement so yeah no unfortunately not that do you think if he's lying about his age he's lying about other things k uh well it depends because if it maybe he didn't want to maybe he thought like oh i'm 40 i'm too old for it he's not going to be interested

01:56:16 - 01:56:23 | Speaker 5:

it so i don't know if it's like that big of a deal yeah uh john what did you want to say about this

01:56:23 - 01:57:05 | Speaker 2:

john oh i was just saying because me and my wife are eight years apart and i met her through facebook and so but if you start lying about one thing then you're probably lying about other things you know you might have somebody on the side or you know you never know it's just you have proof of this from your guys's lives uh i mean i've met women before that you know they said they're sage and then you know go on a day and then find out one time that they were married and i was like oh okay and then even worse i just when i was in texas i was just like oh man and then i found out i worked with the guy that was actually his wife and i didn't even know the guy Oh, wow.

01:57:06 - 01:57:23 | Speaker 5:

I always find it interesting that people that lie about being married before because their lives started at such a young age. Like, you'll hear these people that, you know, that got married when they were, like, 19 and won't tell anybody that that's the case because they feel like people are going to judge them on that. Hey, Rachel, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

01:57:24 - 01:58:12 | Speaker 6:

Hi, good morning. Morning. What's going on? So I had matched with this guy on Bumble. and you know looking through his profile pictures I'm like oh cute he has a dog and I asked him about it and he says yeah I have a dog well a couple dates later it came time to I was like yeah I'll come over to your place I was like I'd love to see your dog oh well I don't actually have a dog and I'm like what you just told me you had a dog and it was in your profile picture so then of course there was a story for that and then um he was he had no why did he lie about having a dog people be weird bro i i don't know like his lies were just baffling to me it was

01:58:12 - 01:58:21 | Speaker 5:

just i'm like why would you lie about that maybe he's lying about a dog to make himself look like a softer gentler guy you know what i mean like a dog guy possibly i don't know because then the

01:58:21 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 6:

next lie i caught him in he told me he had a degree and then come to find out he's like well I haven't graduated yet and I'm like then you don't have a degree right no he's just a manifester

01:58:34 - 01:58:39 | Speaker 4:

he he's gonna manifest the degree he's gonna manifest the dog it's all coming just what's

01:58:39 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 5:

the worst lie the degree or the dog which one the dog really yeah yeah yeah yeah probably the dog

01:58:47 - 01:58:52 | Speaker 6:

because the degree he was at he was at least working towards the dog was nowhere to be found

01:58:52 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 7:

That's serial killer behavior.

01:58:54 - 01:58:58 | Speaker 5:

That is kind of. Hey, Leah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. How you doing?

01:59:00 - 01:59:01 | Speaker 3:

Did you say Leah?

01:59:01 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's you. Oh, hi.

01:59:03 - 01:59:59 | Speaker 3:

How you doing? First time, long time. Hey, Leah's on the phone. Awesome. I love hearing you say that, guys. So I actually had a guy lie about where he lived. He made up a whole story saying that I couldn't come over to his place. He was in the middle of moving. And he's, like, so weird even moving to this other apartment that same owners of the complex own. It's just a different location. I even got it where I'm right above the, like, showing apartment because I, like, it's super quiet. And I'm, like, that's really odd. And how I actually, like, found out about the lies was when I finally went over there and we went out with some friends. And the friends were, like, oh, well, you know, how long have you known this guy? have you checked out the skeletons in his closet and i'm like that's a really weird comment to make and i got home got to his house apartment and there

02:00:00 - 02:00:20 | Speaker 6:

the skeleton in the closet like literally like a real one yeah like a legit skeleton halloween skeleton oh okay why not a real one sorry not like csi thing like this halloween decorations but it was we're way past christmas at this time so i was like how did they know that he had a

02:00:20 - 02:00:37 | Speaker 3:

skeleton yeah christmas Halloween by the way can i tell you something about the skeleton in the closet thing everybody should just put their skeletons in their closet just so they could say that phrase oh my god jason your lie could get you in jail what happened yeah it certainly

02:00:37 - 02:01:11 | Speaker 4:

could uh well first time long time guys uh so i back in my younger days i i did the dating app and I was 27 at the time and I started talking to a girl who said she was 25 and ended up having the day off from work. So we met up, went home, baked a little cookies. The next day, she friends me on Facebook only to find out that she's 19.

02:01:12 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 1:

Oh, no. Thank God. She was right there at that mark.

02:01:17 - 02:01:19 | Speaker 2:

You're lucky, buddy.

02:01:19 - 02:01:23 | Speaker 3:

I almost had a heart attack. You're lucky. That would have not been a good situation.

02:01:23 - 02:01:28 | Speaker 1:

But what happens in that situation if you are lied to and somebody is underage? I don't know.

02:01:29 - 02:01:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, you have to prove it because they're going to probably lie and say that they told them how old they were.

02:01:33 - 02:01:34 | Speaker 1:

You know what I mean?

02:01:34 - 02:01:43 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're absolutely right. One last one on this one. Amanda lied about her age and now has to celebrate multiple birthdays. Is that right, Amanda?

02:01:45 - 02:01:53 | Speaker 7:

Yes. Okay, well, I have to start that. Anyone that knows me knows my real age, but I will celebrate my big 30-30 until I can't pass this 30 anymore.

02:01:54 - 02:01:58 | Speaker 3:

So you just lie and keep yourself 30 years old. I love it.

02:01:58 - 02:02:02 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. If you still look like it, why not take that validation and just celebrate?

02:02:03 - 02:02:05 | Speaker 3:

You know what? How many 30 birthdays have you had?

02:02:07 - 02:02:08 | Speaker 6:

Five. Oh, my God.

02:02:17 - 02:02:18 | Speaker 2:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:02:19 - 02:02:20 | Speaker 6:

Oh, Mojo? He's amazing.

02:02:21 - 02:02:21 | Speaker 2:

Live.

02:02:22 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 4:

It's Mojo in the Morning.

02:02:24 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mama.

02:02:29 - 02:02:30 | Speaker 3:

What's happening, Gavin?

02:02:31 - 02:02:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, what's up?

02:02:32 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 3:

Gavin is a teacher. You teach eighth grade, right?

02:02:38 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yes, I do.

02:02:39 - 02:02:47 | Speaker 3:

When Gavin graduated from undergrad, your mom was not able to go to your graduation. Is that what I'm understanding?

02:02:47 - 02:02:54 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because COVID happened, and so we didn't even have a graduation. So we were all pretty upset about that.

02:02:54 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 3:

So never got a chance to see him in his cap and ground. Well, he's been going and doing further education, and you're going to tell your mom in five lies to tell your mom that you are dropping out, so she is still not going to see you graduate. Are you ready for five lies? Yep. Let me go through the lies so that the listeners can listen for them, okay? These are the lies we gave them. Lie number one, I got an email from my advisor. Lie number two.

02:03:22 - 02:03:25 | Speaker 1:

You are going to say I might not graduate.

02:03:26 - 02:03:31 | Speaker 3:

Lie number three, my internship hours didn't count. Lie number four.

02:03:31 - 02:03:33 | Speaker 1:

My school is not a valid school.

02:03:33 - 02:03:37 | Speaker 3:

And lie number five, I think I'm just going to drop out.

02:03:37 - 02:03:41 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. She's going to freak out. She's not going to be happy.

02:03:41 - 02:03:42 | Speaker 1:

That's what we're looking for.

02:03:42 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 3:

That's the whole point.

02:03:43 - 02:03:45 | Speaker 1:

Five lies to tell your mom. Good.

02:03:45 - 02:03:51 | Speaker 3:

We want mom to get a little riled up and then eventually we'll tell her that, you know, she's on with us and we'll get her a prize. Okay.

02:03:52 - 02:03:54 | Speaker 5:

All right. Sounds great.

02:03:54 - 02:04:03 | Speaker 3:

All right, Gavin. Good luck to you. Let's do it. Five lies to tell your mom. What do your students know you as instead of Gavin? Mr. Mr. Kress. Mr. Kress. Here we go.

02:04:12 - 02:04:30 | Speaker 5:

Hello? Mom? I got an email from my advisor today, and she said that I'm not going to graduate. What? Yeah. Can you believe that?

02:04:30 - 02:04:31 | Speaker 6:

Why?

02:04:32 - 02:04:37 | Speaker 5:

She said that my internship hours are not counting, even though she told me they were.

02:04:38 - 02:04:44 | Speaker 6:

Oh, no. You need to call somebody. You need to get your ass on that phone and call somebody.

02:04:45 - 02:04:59 | Speaker 5:

Who am I supposed to call? My advisor, I already tried talking to her. She said no. She said they're not counting. She said they're not counting because apparently my school that I'm working at right now, it's not counting. I couldn't do it here. No, they told me I could.

02:05:00 - 02:05:09 | Speaker 4:

give me her phone number give me her phone number um okay i can give you the phone number but like

02:05:09 - 02:05:33 | Speaker 3:

honestly there's not i'm not gonna do anything about it if they're gonna they're making me restart over the whole thing from like year one like i have to start over from class i have to do a whole another year like at this point i'm just gonna drop out like i don't want to even finish school at a whole nother year i'm just i'm gonna drop out mom i can't i don't want to

02:05:33 - 02:05:46 | Speaker 4:

even do it anymore we're going to figure this out if they told you your those intern hours counted and now all of a sudden they're telling you they're not yeah i i don't know mom like i'm

02:05:46 - 02:05:51 | Speaker 3:

i'm so upset right now and i'm i mean i was so excited to graduate and now i'm you know i'm not

02:05:51 - 02:05:57 | Speaker 4:

to get that opportunity somebody's phone number you need to who told you that you could intern

02:05:57 - 02:06:10 | Speaker 3:

at your school and now my advisor my advisor told me like that was okay and now they're telling me it's not okay and they took away my my 240 hours and now i have to do them all over again and i'm

02:06:10 - 02:06:18 | Speaker 4:

not doing that that took me almost the whole school year i will talk to somebody give me a phone number. Is this

02:06:18 - 02:06:22 | Speaker 6:

Kim? Yeah. Hi, Kim. I'm the

02:06:22 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 4:

advisor. Oh, okay.

02:06:25 - 02:06:26 | Speaker 6:

How are you?

02:06:26 - 02:06:27 | Speaker 4:

I'm okay.

02:06:28 - 02:06:32 | Speaker 6:

My name is advisor Mojo from Mojo in the Morning.

02:06:35 - 02:06:43 | Speaker 4:

Oh! But you still got all five lines out.

02:06:44 - 02:06:47 | Unknown:

You still did it. You did it.

02:06:48 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 4:

You have no way to go for the holidays, but you want to cry.

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 6:

Hold on. Let's call her back.

02:06:54 - 02:06:55 | Speaker 4:

She's calling me back.

02:06:55 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 3:

She's calling me back.

02:06:56 - 02:06:56 | Speaker 4:

Hello?

02:06:57 - 02:06:58 | Speaker 6:

Kim?

02:06:58 - 02:06:59 | Speaker 4:

I can't hear anybody. Hello?

02:07:00 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 6:

Kim? Mom, can you hear me?

02:07:02 - 02:07:04 | Speaker 4:

I can't hear anybody. Yes, Mom? Hello?

02:07:05 - 02:07:05 | Speaker 6:

Hi, Kim.

02:07:07 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 4:

Now I heard it. Can't ask. Kim, it's Mojo in the Morning.

02:07:16 - 02:07:18 | Speaker 6:

You were on Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

02:07:18 - 02:07:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't want you to think that this was all just a joke. It was just Five Lies to Tell Your Mom.

02:07:25 - 02:07:32 | Speaker 4:

Why would you do that lie, though, Gavin? Why wouldn't you just say something whatever? Because I knew it would get you mad. I knew you'd get upset.

02:07:32 - 02:07:38 | Speaker 6:

Mom, we wanted to give Gavin something for you to listen to on your way to his graduation. He's graduating.

02:07:39 - 02:07:44 | Speaker 4:

Gavin! Oh, my God, you don't even know how upset I was. Well, obviously, you could tell. I could tell.

02:07:45 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 5:

We heard.

02:07:46 - 02:07:50 | Speaker 4:

He has worked so hard, and he was not going to drop out of school.

02:07:51 - 02:08:07 | Speaker 6:

Chelsea and I both have experienced exactly what you did. Jacob graduated from school. His senior year was 2020, and he could not do his graduation. I know the feeling. He does such a great job, and you just want to see him in his cap and gown, right?

02:08:08 - 02:08:08 | Speaker 4:

Exactly.

02:08:09 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. But he is. He's graduating. How great is this? Congratulations to you, Gavin. Thank you.

02:08:15 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 4:

Mom, you were so ride or die. Well, how did you do this, Gavin? I mean, what did you do? Just called and they got you? I listen to Mojo in the morning every morning. Yes, indeed. Yeah.

02:08:23 - 02:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Thank you. I just decided to, you know, text for the first time. And honestly, I didn't think they were going to respond. But it just happened right away. And I'm like, oh, my God. So I just was like so excited because I love the show so much.

02:08:36 - 02:08:37 | Speaker 6:

And Mom, you got a prize.

02:08:38 - 02:08:39 | Speaker 3:

We're giving Mom a prize.

02:08:40 - 02:08:44 | Speaker 6:

We love you. Congratulations, Tia, on raising a good guy.

02:08:45 - 02:08:46 | Speaker 4:

Well, thank you. I appreciate that.

02:08:47 - 02:08:49 | Speaker 1:

If I ever need some backup, I'm calling it.

02:08:49 - 02:08:57 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's right. By the way, Gavin, you are never too old to get your ass beat for what you do.

02:08:57 - 02:09:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, I know. I'm not. It's Mojo in the Morning. Five to me. Four, five.

02:09:01 - 02:09:02 | Unknown:

Sweet.

02:09:03 - 02:09:04 | Speaker 4:

Five lies to tell your mom.

02:09:04 - 02:09:16 | Speaker 6:

Back to Mojo in the morning. Mojo in the morning. Kev had one of those dad moments happen with his son where you were, like, getting nostalgic.

02:09:16 - 02:09:17 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, man.

02:09:17 - 02:09:19 | Speaker 6:

And then what happened?

02:09:19 - 02:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, I was watching YouTube with Joe. We were about to play a video game or something like that. And you know how YouTube has all of these ads. And an ad came up for the first Jurassic Park. And if you are a fan of Jurassic Park, There are a few scenes in there that immediately are recognizable and that are super nostalgic. If it's like the scene of the where it's at night and the guy's on the toilet and then the thing gets ripped off of the toilet and he's stuck in there. That's one of those recognizable scenes. Another one. And this was the moment I was watching it with Josiah is when the group goes to like the top of the hill and they look over and then you see all of the.

02:10:00 - 02:10:48 | Speaker 2:

dinosaurs running by yeah and as i'm sitting there watching this ad i'm like i it took me back to like a child in the 90s watching this moment for the first time and i was just filled with so much joy and so much happiness and i turn to josiah and i'm like joe look like i wanted him to feel that same emotion he was like oh cool and completely moved on and went on his ipad and kept doing whatever he was doing were you just crushed it broke every ounce of joy that i had inside of my body i was like are you not getting this was the trailer playing the iconic i'm sucked into this moment pause and i'm like oh like you aren't getting this are you aware of what you're experiencing right now he just couldn't care less one year that was my top

02:10:48 - 02:10:56 | Speaker 5:

stream song on my streaming platform i had a red jeep at the time and every time i got in i would

02:10:56 - 02:11:14 | Speaker 3:

go you know who you you just became you just became your dad and everybody's dad when your dad would be in the car and he would go listen to this song you know what i mean like yeah it's like dad you know dad hold on i'm listening this song sucks dad why am i watching i took the kids

02:11:14 - 02:11:33 | Speaker 1:

to disney world a couple of years ago and i was like we got we were in line for the it's a small world ride and like i'm talking it up like this is iconic this i loved this ride so much this is like a a legendary disney ride halfway through the ride they're like is it over yet i'm like you guys

02:11:33 - 02:11:56 | Speaker 3:

no the kids were right you know my kids hate is when we go back and visit my hometown that i grew up in yeah that i always drive them by the school that i went to you know i always drive them by their sub city where we used to hang out as teenagers you know and then i'd take them by my old house yeah like i we do and you do this thing all the time like i went to grade school

02:11:56 - 02:12:19 | Speaker 2:

in high school at this place right here and they're like great dad it only lasts for so long like to that same point when josiah was younger josiah is 11 now when he was like five or six, and I'll ride past a middle school, and I'll be like, look, Jonas, David Ellis Academy, that's where dad went when he was your age. He'll be like, oh, cool. Now he doesn't think anything that's cool than I used to do.

02:12:20 - 02:12:38 | Speaker 3:

Back then, he actually, but you know he was faking it. You think so? Yeah, that's a little kid's version of faking the big O. They're faking their parents' excitement. Oh, great. Is this the music you were talking about, Megan, or no? Or is this a different one?

02:12:39 - 02:12:45 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. There's a couple of iconic songs in this movie. There's only one part. Yep, yep. There we go.

02:12:45 - 02:12:51 | Speaker 3:

That's it? You would sit there and listen to this? This was your top played song.

02:12:51 - 02:12:55 | Speaker 5:

This, and there's a trap remix of it that I would listen to. Really?

02:12:55 - 02:12:58 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Okay, that is the most Megan Mick thing I've heard. Oh, my God.

02:12:58 - 02:13:02 | Speaker 5:

I'm telling you. Road Trips, trap remixes of Disney songs, classic Disney songs.

02:13:03 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 2:

You know what they call a trap dinosaur?

02:13:05 - 02:13:05 | Speaker 5:

Huh?

02:13:06 - 02:13:14 | Speaker 2:

A traptor. That was off the top. Did you just make that dad joke back? I did. I did. Like a raptor, but it's raptor. Can I tell you? That's not bad, y'all.

02:13:14 - 02:13:30 | Speaker 5:

My favorite name for years, for years, was a picture of the dinosaurs in the kitchen and then the credits where it said dinosaur supervisor Phil Trippett. It was like, you had one job, Phil. Keep the dinosaurs out of the kitchen, Phil. I love those movies. Like an unhealthy amount.

02:13:31 - 02:13:41 | Speaker 3:

Why is it that we always said when we were younger we would never be our parents and we all of a sudden, like, when is it that you suddenly become your parents? Oh, my God. I'm still not ready for that. Trust me.

02:13:41 - 02:13:49 | Speaker 1:

When I do things and I catch myself, I'm like, oh, my God, you are your mother. It, like, shakes me. I'm not ready to let it go.

02:13:49 - 02:13:54 | Speaker 4:

I started repeating jokes all of the time that nobody thinks is funny but me.

02:13:54 - 02:13:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. That last one you did, I was, like, smiling, but I didn't really get it.

02:13:59 - 02:14:07 | Speaker 4:

I didn't do it. I'm like, yeah. Traffic is a blessing and a curse. It makes it hard to get anywhere, but it's a great excuse to not go anywhere.

02:14:07 - 02:14:19 | Speaker 3:

This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in the Morning show. Shannon ran into somebody in a very interesting place and said that they acted kind of awkward when they saw you.

02:14:20 - 02:14:47 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to give any details about who this person was because they clearly did not want it to be known that they go to this place. So I went to pick up a prescription at one of those special pharmacies. It's not like a CVS or a Walgreens or whatever. It's like a, they're called compounding pharmacies. Have you ever heard of this before? They're like very random. They're kind of small. You have to like seek them out to get certain prescriptions for different things.

02:14:47 - 02:14:54 | Speaker 3:

They make like, they'll make a cheaper version of whatever the brand is because the drug companies screw us on everything.

02:14:55 - 02:15:00 | Speaker 1:

And so that or like a lot of the trial drugs or like, you know, whatever dose of something. Yes.

02:15:00 - 02:16:18 | Speaker 2:

Yes. So I was picking up a prescription at one of these types of pharmacies and I walked in and I instantly saw somebody that I know checking out at the counter. And this person looked like an absolute deer in headlights when he or she saw me. I will protect this person's identity inside here shape wide eyes nervous started sweating it was super super weird and i walked over and said i was like oh my gosh hi you know this is so random and i'm running into you here and like something was very clearly off they did not want me or anybody so it seems to know that they were getting whatever it is that they were getting and like they were getting they were getting their their weight loss shot okay who cares do you know what i mean like i to me if that's if that's what you're getting i and there is zero judgment but i i don't know what you guys i i walked out of there and west was waiting for me in the car and i'm like i i just feel like i it was like walking in on somebody in bed with another wife like if that's how this person was acting or husband whatever you know i it was so you know what's weird about weird

02:16:18 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 4:

The weird thing is, can I ask what you were going in there for?

02:16:23 - 02:16:26 | Speaker 2:

Yes, so I am on a trial right now for my asthma.

02:16:26 - 02:16:30 | Speaker 4:

Okay, because you're going to get asthma medications.

02:16:31 - 02:16:33 | Speaker 2:

Yes, and it's probably going to get changed today because I'm going back to the doctor.

02:16:33 - 02:17:10 | Speaker 4:

I think that the person probably seemed awkward because they probably were going for maybe a weight loss drug or something. And for some reason, I don't know why people feel so weird when they're doing it. Because their doctor still has to send them over there to go get it. It's not like they're going there and just getting it. So your doctor's getting it, but it is interesting how they'll treat them being there and whatever medication or even at like CVS and stuff you, you will treat being there. Like somebody else doesn't have the same issues that you have. Like when you're checking out at a CVS and you're getting like wart cream, like, let me tell you, guess what? Everybody gets warts.

02:17:10 - 02:17:24 | Speaker 2:

It's super fun walking around target with yeast infection medication in my heart. Like they're boys will never know what that feels like. I hate that. That's like in clear view of everybody shopping at Target.

02:17:24 - 02:18:11 | Speaker 4:

I want, I'm going to put out. You don't know what that is. Why are you Googling? You know how we. I mean, I've heard of them. You know how we put out into the universe things that we want to see happen to us? Here's what I want to have happen on this particular topic of Shannon bumping into this person in a place that that person did not want them to be. Like, you know, what are you doing here? We'll call this topic. I want to know if anybody's ever bumped into their boss at like lover's lane or if you've ever, or maybe strip clubs, or if you ever bumped into, you know, who, uh, the, uh, the family, uh, your family pastor dog, you know, I don't know if this is good or bad, but I

02:18:11 - 02:18:20 | Speaker 3:

ran into my grandma pastor at the casino. Did you? And he looked like he wasn't supposed to be there. Oh, see, that's an interesting one. Really? All it was ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, all around, like, Reverend Francis.

02:18:22 - 02:18:24 | Speaker 4:

Did he have the church collection basket with him?

02:18:25 - 02:18:31 | Speaker 3:

He had a little white polo on. He kind of looked at me, but he looked at me like, okay, let's make this quick.

02:18:32 - 02:19:25 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't it be funny if it was a Sunday and he came right from church? They got the greatest buffet over at the MGM. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, Texas 95500. I've openly talked about how I'm taking a weight loss shot and it's working and I'm not going to hold back on it. And I'll tell you guys more about it probably, you know, in the coming days. But I have to tell you, when I go and I get everything, the people that are like working behind the counter act like they're handing me a drug deal of like whatever. And I'm like, it's OK. I get it. Like it's like I'm OK with it. But I get that there are some people that are not comfortable with it, and because of HIPAAs and all the rest of that stuff, they get all worked up over it. But I, like, tell everybody, this is mine. Right, right. It's keeping me from eating a whole pizza. Brock, what's going on?

02:19:27 - 02:19:44 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Mojo? So a few years back, I was taking my car to go get an oil change. As I'm leaving the place, my boss is pulling up with one of my coworkers, and as they are Getting out of the car, they gave each other a nice little smooch on the cheek. Uh-oh.

02:19:45 - 02:19:55 | Speaker 4:

Hey, now. That's awesome. And what did you do? Did you pull out your super big lens, private investigator camera, and take a picture?

02:19:57 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 1:

No, I actually used it for some leverage when I went.

02:20:00 - 02:20:37 | Speaker 3:

back the next week what did you do yeah i had a uh review over performance for the month and i was like hey just a uh closed door comment i saw this this weekend and the look of oh crap on her face she got up so fast and closed the door wow that's was she married or she was just embarrassed she was uh she was going through a divorce at the time because of that situation maybe no the divorce was going on for about two months before that and this was a new employee that

02:20:37 - 02:20:51 | Speaker 1:

started within uh three weeks of me noticing that oh boy look at that guess who got a good review uh i like this one here julie hi who'd you bump into hi good morning good morning so i was at the

02:20:51 - 02:21:17 | Speaker 5:

pharmacy with my son and his friend they were probably i'm gonna say 10 12. i was getting like vitamins or something and the row right behind us was condoms and my son goes mom don't you need some of these you and dad you you buy these and i said no i don't buy those and he goes yeah you do and i said no i really don't are these the vitamins we use and he comes over and he goes do you need other stuff do you need to get those and i like pulled him close to me and i whispered is where i I go, I swear to God, if you ask me one more time.

02:21:18 - 02:21:24 | Speaker 2:

Also, I would be like, wait, have you been with dad when he buys this? That's where I thought it was going.

02:21:24 - 02:21:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, right? I'm like, oh, my God. Now that he's grown up, you know, it's a whole different story. So, anyways. That's fine.

02:21:31 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 1:

Thank you for the call. Listen to these ones, speaking of dads. Kelly, how you doing?

02:21:36 - 02:21:37 | Speaker 4:

Good, how are you?

02:21:37 - 02:21:40 | Speaker 1:

Good. Where did you, where were you at and who did you run into?

02:21:41 - 02:21:45 | Speaker 4:

I ran to my dad at Lover's Lane. Oh, no.

02:21:45 - 02:21:48 | Speaker 2:

No. You did not. What did he have in his hands? What was he shopping for?

02:21:50 - 02:22:36 | Speaker 4:

Well, I was there first, and I was actually at the checkout. Luckily, I was just buying shoes because they had exotic shoes there. And they had the checkout in, like, the center of the store. So when he walked in, our eyes met right away because that's just the way the store is laid out. Yeah. And I just say, hi, Dad, just so everyone in the room knows how awkward this is. and you know his jaw drops and we're just surprised to see each other and his sense of humor he just kind of tries to laugh it off and act like he you know kind of mistakenly walked in there or whatever they were having a big sale that weekend we're both for a sale you should

02:22:36 - 02:22:42 | Speaker 1:

have if it was near father's day you should have bought him a gift card and yeah we were just kind

02:22:42 - 02:22:53 | Speaker 4:

it done with it and a few minutes later he called me and my parents are divorced and he says oh you know you don't have to tell your mom about this and I'm like oh no no and I'm trying not to laugh

02:22:53 - 02:23:18 | Speaker 1:

because she was the first person I told of course you know what's funny about that the funniest part of the whole deal is poor dad gets a divorce he's not got mom anymore as his partner all the guy wants to do is get a pocket pee and his daughter is there you know what I mean let the man have it Come on. Real quick, were you able to get this texter on about the strip club at all, Lydia? Or no, did they not?

02:23:18 - 02:23:19 | Speaker 4:

Line eight.

02:23:20 - 02:23:24 | Speaker 1:

Line eight. Let me take line eight. Chris, who did you run into?

02:23:26 - 02:23:36 | Speaker 2:

So it wasn't me, but my math teacher went to a strip club with a group of friends, and a student was a dancer. What?

02:23:37 - 02:23:40 | Speaker 5:

Really? I mean, that's not uncommon.

02:23:40 - 02:23:47 | Speaker 1:

So your math teacher, your male math teacher was there hanging out at the strip club. Interesting.

02:23:47 - 02:23:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I found this out years later as we were friends after I was out of high school myself.

02:23:53 - 02:23:57 | Speaker 1:

Quick question, how did the student get the job at a strip club?

02:23:58 - 02:24:00 | Speaker 5:

Well, I'm guessing they weren't occurrence doing it, right?

02:24:01 - 02:24:08 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, this was senior year, and it wasn't the fourth year of high school for that person.

02:24:08 - 02:24:26 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so they were in high school still, but they were over 18, so they were able to strip at the strip club. Yeah. Interesting. Gray's one only thing, son. What did she tell you? Did she call every one of you guys and tell her that she danced for the stripper or for the teacher?

02:24:26 - 02:24:34 | Speaker 2:

No. No, she was not one that everyone talked to. She was in my English class, and she slept through it, obviously.

02:24:34 - 02:25:00 | Speaker 1:

Man, I wonder if she got an A in the math teacher's class. i don't think she was in that math class okay poor girl that that sucked that you got the other math teacher you didn't get the the strip club guy um thanks for the call man i appreciate it lydia why is angela from the five at 655 calling us should i pick her up why not okay hold on a second angela five at 655 angela

02:25:00 - 02:25:02 | Speaker 6:

We love you so much. How are you?

02:25:02 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 4:

It's Miss Lane. I'm good. So listen real quick because I'm at work. I work at Oconee Island. Okay.

02:25:09 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:25:10 - 02:25:53 | Speaker 4:

And one of the Red Wings, and I won't say his name, but he was one of the players that won the cup, came in with a side chick. Oh, wow. Talk about catching somebody. So when me and the other two girls seem, you know, of course we know them, So I take the table and like, you know, oh, my God. Oh, I wasn't supposed to do that. But anyway, too much information, too much information.

02:25:55 - 02:26:05 | Speaker 6:

You bad girl, by the way, Angela. By the way, Mojo, we need to make Angela an official misfit.

02:26:05 - 02:26:12 | Speaker 4:

She is. She's Airport Angela. Airport Angela. Airport Angela is on the phone. This is all alleged.

02:26:12 - 02:26:13 | Speaker 6:

Airport Angela.

02:26:13 - 02:26:17 | Speaker 4:

All alleged. I mean, I could be mistaken. There's so many red wings.

02:26:17 - 02:26:22 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's right. Airport Angela, Mojo in the Morning misfit. Don't ever catch her in a dark alley.

It's speaking to my soul. But thank God Alex deep dives and asks Chappell how they met their partner.

02:27:38 - 02:27:44 | Speaker 3:

02:27:45 - 02:27:54 | Speaker 2:

They're a friend. But it wasn't a setup. Who made the first move? Me. I'm usually the one to make. Like, in every circumstance, I make the first move.

02:27:54 - 02:28:04 | Speaker 1:

and again with the fire questions we get a response to how she dates when she's honestly so famous like do you go out in public do you just stay home i haven't dated someone

02:28:04 - 02:28:26 | Speaker 2:

since like this all like really really blew up yeah i'm dating the same person that i was dating before i got like it blew up i'm not sure how i would date now i think it would actually be a nightmare i think i would be like so single right now i don't trust anyone any new person that i am texting i'm like i'm assuming they will screenshot this and like send it to someone else kendrick

02:28:26 - 02:29:52 | Speaker 1:

lamar's super bowl halftime show had some viewers complaining about inappropriate lyrics raunchy dance moves and apparent anti-american themes a few took issue with the drake beef being thrown into the mix 125 complaints were sent to the fcc following the super bowl halftime performance the majority of them felt like it was not a family friendly experience uh if you're wondering you know how does this stack up against previous performers of the halftime show rihanna's show resulted in just over 100 complaints but jennifer lopez and shakira's halftime show raked in more than 1300 complaints what yeah if you saw the rumor flying around on the internet that detroit rapper dank demas had lost her discrimination lawsuit to lyft after the driver refused to give her a ride well that actually is not the case her attorney marco law has confirmed that lyft and its attorneys are in possession of the lawsuit and the company has not yet responded to the case so if you saw that floating around on the internet just know it's not true they still haven't gone to court yet but she did not settle she did not lose it hasn't happened justice for dank tom iso gave a post-game interview did the spartans win like are they still in the march We are soon in. We play Friday in the Sweet 16. Okay. Well, I found it to be very funny that he got a bit feisty when reporters asked him after the game about the new transfer portal and how players can move teams really during the tournament.

02:29:53 - 02:29:59 | Speaker 5:

Nobody knows. And by the way, there's not a lot of recruiting done in the transfer portal.

02:30:00 - 02:30:41 | Speaker 1:

it's offering there's not recruiting it's pain and we don't even know all these people are doing it we don't even know what we can do yet it's it's this is an amazing deal and again i'm gonna apologize to you but i am ticked off that you answered ask me that right now because i think you just cheated me so if I keep talking I cheat my players and I'll cheat myself before I'll cheat my players so another question about the transfer portal I can lift you a lot of schools you can

02:30:41 - 02:31:41 | Speaker 7:

call and ask them they might have the better opinion than me oh Tommy I fully agree with coach Izzo for those who don't know right now there's a tournament happening pretty big deal players even though the tournament is ongoing can say you know what i no longer want to go to this school i want to transfer out and big local news scotty pippen if you're unfamiliar with him he won six championships with michael jordan chicago bulls his son plays for the university of michigan the university of michigan is currently alive and well in the march madness tournament and scotty pippen's son who plays for michigan and again they have a game on friday says i am going to enter the transfer portal so even though his team is still in the vine and in the in the running to win a championship you can literally say next year guys don't expect me to be here and that's why this question is being asked because there are players who are actively trying to win a championship we're saying you know what i'm not here which completely can throw off the team

02:31:41 - 02:31:52 | Speaker 5:

chemistry jelly roll sat down for a podcast where he talked about eminem a lot uh talked about really how he relates to Eminem's story on a very deep level.

02:31:53 - 02:32:51 | Speaker 3:

His story inspired me from the beginning. Like, I related to him in my soul. Like, a trailer park kid from Detroit was trying to find his way out through hip-hop. It immediately sat on me as a kid who grew up in and out of apartments and trailer parks his whole life. And then he has a kid named Haley, and then later in life I have a kid named Bailey. She's great now, but she definitely struggled. So I just related to all these elements anyways. Like, he was my voice. I seen a meme one time that I think summed it up so good. They said, Eminem raised me, raised me through my childhood. Jelly Roll's getting me through my adulthood.

02:32:51 - 02:33:09 | Speaker 5:

Ooh, I love that. I also love this other thing that he said on the podcast. He said Eminem was the polar opposite from other heroes he met who let him down. Love that. Love that. dirty on the 30 mojo in the morning show bianca who is one of our social media superstars here she also does the overnight shift on the radio station and she's just a real sweet person has a story for us to talk about here right now uh we can't say names though bianca said i cannot ask for names nor can i ask her to call these friends of hers but yeah they're definitely not up right now anyways so nobody gets up this early you have two friends two friends or two people that you know they have been dating for how long of a time um they started dating two

02:34:27 - 02:34:48 | Speaker 4:

weeks ago i think they've been talking for like probably no more than like a month and a half or two months though okay officially dating two weeks ago and i don't know if this is just like what happens when you start getting older but like they moved in together they just signed a lease on an apartment together yesterday that is the opposite of what happens when you get older wait

02:34:48 - 02:34:52 | Speaker 6:

when you say older how old are these friends of yours they're my age they graduate like you're

02:34:52 - 02:34:57 | Speaker 4:

not old though how old are you i'm 21 you're 21 oh my god so i don't know this is something

02:34:57 - 02:35:29 | Speaker 6:

happens when you get older so this is 21 All right.

02:35:00 - 02:35:05 | Speaker 5:

my god i've got shoes older than you i always wanted to say that okay but that's just like

02:35:05 - 02:35:27 | Speaker 6:

i don't think that's normal and what happens if they break up or what happens if something goes wrong like they both on the lease i don't know but they i'm assuming so like she's been talking about moving out and i was not expecting her to move in with her man and her man i don't even know him like nobody knows him really like they just started like i don't know wow are they staying

02:35:27 - 02:35:32 | Speaker 5:

in the same room or do they get a two bedroom no they're in the same room too wow it doesn't matter

02:35:32 - 02:35:48 | Speaker 6:

you still have to share the same space yeah and my other friend who's also my age we're all a same friend group she like moved in with her boyfriend that she's like she lives in his house and they've been dating for actually they're not dating they've been talking for like two months

02:35:48 - 02:35:55 | Speaker 5:

also you understand you can never do this because you're a chaldean oh my gosh my my dad would

02:35:55 - 02:36:00 | Speaker 6:

literally beat me not actually but he would actually like get really mad at this all right

02:36:00 - 02:36:11 | Speaker 5:

so i want to uh ask this question how soon after you met the person did you move in with them 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 is our telephone number and i don't want to hear from the couples

02:36:11 - 02:36:26 | Speaker 1:

that like oh he slept over and then never like i like i want to hear like signed a lease yeah actually moved your belongings together yes yeah stuff like that like those i feel like that happens where you know you're in a relationship and somebody spends the night and then they just

02:36:26 - 02:36:42 | Speaker 6:

yeah next thing you know yeah that's like they're still in the honeymoon phase my roommate was dating her ex-boyfriend for like two and a half years and he wanted to move in with her but she's like i'm not doing it because if something goes south i'm not dealing with all that problems and they did break up honeymoon phase two weeks you're like you don't even know somebody's middle name

02:36:42 - 02:37:06 | Speaker 5:

i can't believe it i to me that makes me just kind of crack up over the fact that these guys are getting into an apartment together to me it takes longer to get approved on the apartment than it did for their relationship to happen but they were able to do it this fast jessica what's going on how you doing how are you guys good jessica is just dating for two weeks too soon to move in

02:37:06 - 02:37:34 | Speaker 3:

with each other so my now husband and i um well four years ago husband uh we actually moved in together three weeks into our relationship he moved into my apartment and yeah we've been together 11 years now and have a two-year-old daughter oh man so it actually does work out in some cases was it like my mom got married to my stepdad after three months and they've been together for 23 years they got married it's after three months so yeah bianca brought up a really

02:37:34 - 02:37:41 | Speaker 5:

good uh question to ask you um did you right away know when you first saw him okay this is the guy

02:37:41 - 02:37:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was like watching the movies where all of a sudden your eyes meet. I swear it was like that feeling, yes.

02:37:49 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my gosh. That's crazy.

02:37:50 - 02:37:51 | Speaker 3:

We just knew.

02:37:51 - 02:37:53 | Speaker 5:

Abby, what's happening? It's Mojo in the morning.

02:37:55 - 02:38:11 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Good morning, everybody. Good morning. Hi. I just moved myself into my husband's apartment at the time. About two weeks after I met him, we got married three months after, and this year we're going to be celebrating our 20-year wedding anniversary.

02:38:12 - 02:38:15 | Speaker 5:

Did every one of your friends think you were nuts, like Bianca thinks her friend's nuts?

02:38:17 - 02:38:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, yeah. They definitely thought, they're like, he's going to murder you. And I'm like, okay, well, I'm about to take the chance.

02:38:24 - 02:38:28 | Speaker 5:

I would have not thought that he was going to murder you. I would think he's going to ruin your credit or something.

02:38:29 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, because he looks scary. Like, he's bald.

02:38:31 - 02:38:35 | Speaker 5:

Oh, he does? Well, I wasn't going to judge him.

02:38:35 - 02:38:36 | Speaker 2:

We're going to win it.

02:38:37 - 02:38:44 | Speaker 5:

I love that. I love that they right away thought that the guy that looked like a murderer was. What's up, Tricia? How you doing?

02:38:45 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 4:

Good. How about you?

02:38:47 - 02:38:51 | Speaker 5:

We're doing fantastic. So have you met Bianca yet? Will you say hello to Bianca?

02:38:52 - 02:39:12 | Speaker 4:

Hi, Bianca. Hey, how are you? Good. Just so you know, I was set up on a blind date that I tried to get out of. Okay. Ended up moving in after six weeks, and I've been married 36 years. Oh, my God. So maybe some light comes out of this. We eloped at six months with my parents.

02:39:13 - 02:39:13 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God.

02:39:13 - 02:39:14 | Speaker 4:

Oh.

02:39:14 - 02:39:16 | Speaker 5:

You eloped with your parents there?

02:39:17 - 02:39:18 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, we invited my parents.

02:39:19 - 02:39:19 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

02:39:19 - 02:39:28 | Speaker 4:

They were the only ones that mattered. I didn't want to have a big wedding. I didn't want to be the center of attention. We just wanted to be together. So we eloped with my parents.

02:39:28 - 02:39:34 | Speaker 5:

And your parents were okay with this? They didn't think that you were a little crazy? You think that your parents went with you just because they were worried about you?

02:39:35 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 4:

No. No. okay i'm very jealous he was the only person i ever dated he is the only person my parents ever

02:39:43 - 02:39:59 | Speaker 5:

okay well i know people that are like that that don't really have a lot of you know they don't have boyfriends or girlfriends and they don't bring them around their family and then their family all of a sudden you know like goes oh well thank god they got somebody now what's up jasmine hello hello What?

02:40:00 - 02:40:06 | Speaker 3:

I met my husband at a campground. Two days later, I moved in with him, and now we've been together almost 14 years.

02:40:06 - 02:40:14 | Speaker 2:

Oh, geez. Oh, what? At a campground? Yeah. You understand that if you were one of my friends, I'd be thinking something crazy was going on.

02:40:15 - 02:40:17 | Speaker 3:

All his friends thought the same thing, too.

02:40:18 - 02:40:18 | Speaker 2:

Man.

02:40:18 - 02:40:25 | Speaker 3:

They thought I was crazy and just here to take his money in his house. But no, we've been together almost 14 years, and we have a granddaughter now.

02:40:25 - 02:40:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. You don't sound like you're old enough to have a child, let alone a granddaughter.

02:40:30 - 02:40:32 | Speaker 3:

I have a 24-year-old and a 21-year-old.

02:40:32 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 2:

How old are you?

02:40:34 - 02:40:34 | Speaker 3:

44.

02:40:34 - 02:40:40 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow, you're young. Yeah, okay. He had money, basically. Was that what you were going to ask, Megan?

02:40:40 - 02:40:41 | Speaker 3:

And was at a campground?

02:40:41 - 02:40:44 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, and was at a campground. Why was he at a campground if you had money?

02:40:45 - 02:40:47 | Speaker 3:

They were camping for Memorial Weekend.

02:40:47 - 02:40:57 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Got to hang out at those campgrounds, Megan. Mike's been trying to get you to go camping with him and Allie for the longest time. That's where you find the good guys. What's up, Ben?

02:40:57 - 02:41:13 | Speaker 5:

Hey guys Hey Ben Surprised Conversation But my parents met each other And 13 days later were married And just celebrated their 53rd Anniversary

02:41:13 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 4:

Shut up How did they meet? Where did they meet?

02:41:17 - 02:41:18 | Speaker 2:

At a campground

02:41:18 - 02:41:22 | Speaker 5:

Kelly's Island

02:41:22 - 02:41:29 | Speaker 4:

Wait Did they hook up on the first night? I feel like that's where you made poor decisions. It started at Kelly's Island.

02:41:30 - 02:41:31 | Speaker 2:

Probably.

02:41:32 - 02:41:34 | Speaker 5:

That is an incredible story, though.

02:41:35 - 02:41:37 | Speaker 2:

I would have come up with a different story to that.

02:41:37 - 02:41:41 | Speaker 5:

And they stood there talking, and that's where it started.

02:41:41 - 02:41:42 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that's sweet.

02:41:42 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 5:

They were stuck on the boat, and just, so they're talking to each other. That's a movie.

02:41:47 - 02:41:50 | Speaker 2:

That is crazy. Go back to Bianca's friends for a second here.

02:41:51 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 5:

Six kids later. Yeah.

02:41:54 - 02:42:03 | Speaker 2:

These friends of yours, they're 21 years old. They just got in an apartment together after only being together for two weeks. Where the hell are their parents?

02:42:05 - 02:42:16 | Speaker 1:

Around. I don't know. I don't think they really care or I don't think they mind that much. They're not Chaldean parents like mine, so I don't think they're as strict. But also, what are you going to do? They're an adult.

02:42:16 - 02:42:24 | Speaker 2:

You're telling me that if one of my sons said, hey, we've only known each other for two weeks. We're going to move in together. You don't think that Chelsea and I would be at their doorstep?

02:42:24 - 02:42:48 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, but at the end of the day, what are you going to do? Drag them back home by their feet? Cut them off. Cut them off. She serves, so she makes enough money to pay for the rent, but I don't have enough money to pay for my own rent right now, so I'm not moving out until I'm rich, rich. But I feel like, how are they not scared? I would be freaking out. They don't even know each other like that. I know. They're not. I know. I don't know.

02:42:48 - 02:42:55 | Speaker 2:

jenna jenna your your boyfriend was house hopping yeah he was house hopping living with

02:42:55 - 02:44:01 | Speaker 4:

like friends sleeping on couches and i felt really bad for him and i ended up going and buying a trailer for him to live in well i still lived at home with my parents oh man so you bought him his own place yes and how long did you know him at that point we were maybe dating like two months wow oh my will you date me please yeah right it was bad and then eventually I ended up telling my parents about it and they freaked out on me so you guys are still together no we're not oh babe where's the trailer at oh it's in Chesterfield okay do you what do you rent it or what do you do do you live in it um well I don't live there anymore I ended up moving back home with my parents afterwards and then ended up leaving him and now i'm with a woman and we're married wait so just so i'm clear you bought the place and then you had to leave it when you broke up no no like i ended up leaving him and then like kicking him out and now it's a rental or

02:44:01 - 02:44:07 | Speaker 2:

something yeah yeah okay all right just got some income coming out of it all right well thank you Appreciate it.

02:44:07 - 02:44:08 | Speaker 4:

Thank you.

02:44:08 - 02:44:09 | Speaker 2:

All right. Take care. Bye.

02:44:09 - 02:44:14 | Speaker 5:

Check out our Facebook page. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook.

02:44:14 - 02:44:16 | Unknown:

Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook.

02:44:16 - 02:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. Facebook. When you see a person that looks drastically different, I'm going to give you an example and I'll tell you my personal example. If you see somebody that just recently lost a bunch of weight and you haven't seen them in a while, are you supposed to point out that, oh my God, you've lost a lot of weight or you look great? Or are you supposed to, if you see somebody that completely changed their hair color, like drastically changed?

02:45:00 - 02:45:05 | Speaker 3:

their hair color are you supposed to point it out and say hey oh man i like that color on you

02:45:05 - 02:45:10 | Speaker 2:

or you know hair color absolutely that's a big thing is a safe one then here's my case

02:45:10 - 02:46:04 | Speaker 3:

i had a friend that was offended that and we all got together as a group of us and she was more offended with me because she says that i'm a boob person and i did not make a comment about the fact that she got a boob enlargement or boob implants, that she actually got breast augmentation, yes. And I didn't say anything at all. And she was all upset that she got all this done, and she's like, and Tom didn't even say anything. And I'm like, if I say something, then all of a sudden I'm the pervert saying something. You cannot say that. And actually, it's funny because she said, she goes to Chelsea, And she goes, I can't believe he didn't say anything. And Chelsea's like, well, you know. Thank God. I've been trying to get him to not say stuff. He's actually behaving himself right now.

02:46:05 - 02:46:11 | Speaker 5:

Even if it was like girl to girl, if it was a girl that I knew, unless she was one of my really close friends, I would not comment on that.

02:46:12 - 02:46:34 | Speaker 2:

Or like in today's world where BBLs are a big thing. Some women, you know, they go away for a couple months. They come back with a fatty that wasn't there before they left. People really are still getting BBLs. I mean, I feel like it's going to slow down a little bit. But yeah, people look different The gad is natural There are certain body parts that I feel like are off limits The hair thing, yeah You can comment on that

02:46:34 - 02:46:41 | Speaker 5:

A million percent and overly comment and compliment Because when girls get their hair done, colored, cut Like a big change, they want that

02:46:41 - 02:46:57 | Speaker 3:

But the breasts? No I add another one to this list I add when somebody loses a bunch of weight Because I add that you cannot say anything to somebody Because if you say something to somebody they get offended that you said something and then what is the first thing that they say

02:46:57 - 02:47:10 | Speaker 5:

i didn't do it through you know i don't know i don't think there's anything wrong with telling somebody you look you look phenomenal yeah but you don't have to say you lost a bunch of weight

02:47:10 - 02:47:32 | Speaker 2:

but why can't you just say you look so good see how i do it i don't know the last time this happened it was it's been a while but last piston season i remember a dude came in to the the back office like we have our pre-meetings or whatever like that and visibly he looks smaller and what i said i was like you've been working out he like yeah man i lost one like he was good but it's some

02:47:32 - 02:47:54 | Speaker 3:

stuff you didn't say dude you lost a ton away i was like you've been working out like it's clear all about how you say it yeah but but a woman we talked about this and megan's out this morning but we talked about this with megan when she said that everybody would come up and say something to her Because, listen, she has lost an incredible amount of weight. And she looks amazing. She's, you know, feeling amazing.

02:47:54 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 5:

But I will say this about Megan. Megan would totally accept the compliment of, you look fabulous. She hates it when people are like, what are you doing? Like, she hates the qualifier of that.

02:48:07 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 2:

Then it's also, so there's like two sides. It's like when you say I look so good, does it mean that I didn't look good before?

02:48:14 - 02:48:14 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

02:48:15 - 02:48:16 | Speaker 2:

Like, that's like the extra.

02:48:17 - 02:48:20 | Speaker 3:

But the boobs are the ones that I'm not.

02:48:20 - 02:48:22 | Speaker 5:

You cannot comment on that. No way.

02:48:22 - 02:48:24 | Speaker 2:

I'm not trying to get in those sexual harassment type things.

02:48:24 - 02:48:25 | Speaker 3:

Motorboat? You play the motorboat?

02:48:26 - 02:48:30 | Speaker 2:

But everybody's thinking it. Everybody's thinking it now.

02:48:30 - 02:49:12 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Honestly, I did not even notice. I promise you. Normally, I notice everything. She should have went up a size. No, it had nothing to do with that. I was not looking at her. I was looking at her eyes. Okay. Beautiful eyes. what's up eric how you doing good um this is big red formerly big what's up big yeah by the way i heard big red's lost a bunch of weight is that true big red yeah yeah i lost 140 pounds wow that's incredible big red by the way big red is it is it uh bad if people ask you how you lost that weight because a lot of times now people are real touchy with that no no i i encourage

02:49:12 - 02:49:31 | Speaker 1:

You know, as a guy, you never get compliments anyhow. So any compliment I can get, I'll eat it up. How you lose the weight? Diet, I change my diet. Instead of eating junk food every five minutes, I eat healthy proteins. I eat good stuff. Drink a lot more liquids.

02:49:32 - 02:49:41 | Speaker 3:

Oh, don't be offended if I play this, but I was going to play this right afterwards. And I'm not insinuating, because 140 pounds is a lot of weight to lose just off of diet.

02:49:41 - 02:49:53 | Speaker 4:

But we know you didn't do it alone. I love this.

02:50:00 - 02:50:16 | Speaker 2:

The boy sang it. Who is that, by the way? I don't know. I love him. So just diet and exercise. You know what? It's funny. I hate it because it's too easy.

02:50:17 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 3:

I couldn't move when I was big.

02:50:19 - 02:50:19 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:50:19 - 02:50:34 | Speaker 3:

And then when I started losing, I could move more. So I'd go to the mall and I'd just walk and walk and walk. Now I'm walking everywhere. Good for you. I don't eat junk food anymore. I used to live on peanut M&M's and Ho-Ho's and candy bars.

02:50:34 - 02:50:36 | Speaker 2:

Do they taste different to you now?

02:50:37 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 3:

They don't taste right. They're terrible. I can't eat them. They don't taste right.

02:50:42 - 02:51:01 | Speaker 2:

I was telling a friend this the other day because I am doing a shot, so I'm doing Mangiorno. And I was telling them that I can't have peanut M&M's or any kind of like normal candies and stuff that I used to like before because they taste like chemically to me. That's how pop is for me. Diane, what's up?

02:51:03 - 02:51:04 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how are you guys this morning?

02:51:04 - 02:51:05 | Speaker 2:

We're good. What's up?

02:51:06 - 02:51:12 | Speaker 1:

Good. Hey, so I recently, myself, lost 35 pounds. I've struggled with my weight my whole life.

02:51:12 - 02:51:18 | Speaker 2:

Congratulations, by the way. Let's give it up. Let's give it up for her. That was awesome. You deserve it.

02:51:19 - 02:51:23 | Speaker 1:

Thank you, guys. Well, and I'm not ashamed to say that I did the semaglutide.

02:51:23 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

02:51:24 - 02:51:49 | Speaker 1:

Because that's the only thing that could help me control my appetite. Yep. But I've been off it for a little bit. and I'm keeping it off. Good for you. So that being said, I was commenting on what you said earlier about when people don't say, wow, you look great, you lost weight. I love it. I welcome it. It makes me feel so good because I'm proud of my accomplishment. But you want to know something, you guys? My own sister, I have one sibling, she's three years older. She will not say, wow, Diane, you look great, you lost weight.

02:51:49 - 02:51:50 | Speaker 2:

Hater.

02:51:50 - 02:51:51 | Speaker 1:

Not say a word.

02:51:51 - 02:51:53 | Speaker 2:

Is she a hater? Yeah. Is she heavy?

02:51:53 - 02:52:09 | Speaker 1:

Not nice. well she's bigger boned um and she does what goes up and down so she's very sick but boy when she you know wants a compliment oh i lost this match i lost this match you know so that's i mean i hate

02:52:09 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 2:

saying that but it is fabulous big bones i ain't never seen a fast skeleton hey can i tell you something and everybody teaches own on this one you told us about you taking you know uh something for it my doctor told me something my doctor's the one that told me to do this dr warner was the one that told me to do this and his biggest thing was because i was going to get weight loss surgery because i literally have struggled with my weight my entire life listeners know that

02:52:32 - 02:52:40 | Speaker 1:

and and he said to me he goes hey forever every single day i never miss the show well he made a

02:52:40 - 02:52:49 | Speaker 2:

comment to me he goes hey if this is something that saves a person's life being able to lose weight because there's a lot of people that are diabetic or pre-diabetic and if this does my

02:52:49 - 02:52:52 | Speaker 1:

His husband's a diabetic. He lost his leg to it.

02:52:52 - 02:52:58 | Speaker 2:

Well, then, you know what? I'd rather lose the weight through a shot than lose my leg through not, you know?

02:52:58 - 02:52:59 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Yep.

02:52:59 - 02:53:03 | Speaker 2:

All right. Thank you. Thank you for telling us that. All right, you guys. Congrats.

02:53:04 - 02:53:06 | Speaker 1:

Thanks. Have an awesome week. All right. You too. Thank you.

02:53:06 - 02:53:10 | Speaker 2:

Allison says weight is off limits. Do not mention anybody who's lost weight. Right, Allison?

02:53:12 - 02:54:19 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. Hi. Hi. I just think it's, I think we have to be really careful, especially in our society today. on commenting on people's bodies and especially weight because it's putting a lot of value and worth and what we look like and I just feel like it can send the wrong message and I know people are proud if they you know if they've worked hard and they've lost the weight and they've put in the work but I think we have to be really careful because it can send the wrong message about you know them not looking good that could be oh i didn't look good before how about if i say you look really healthy yeah i think that's probably worse yeah that's way worse yeah you think that's good if you don't know i made a comment one time about somebody's weight and come to start losing weight and come to find out she was going through a really tough time in her life and it brought up a lot of really hard emotions so something i thought was going to be really positive for this person turned out to be a really emotional situation for her yeah i actually

02:54:19 - 02:55:00 | Speaker 2:

had that happen to me one time i said to somebody i go god you look good you lost a lot of weight and they were actually battling cancer at the time i didn't even realize it can i can i um can i tell you the one that i always want to do when somebody overly and it's usually male overly dyes their hair and it's like to a point where it looks really so unnatural listen I I you know popped in some stuff in my beard because I get worried because my beard uh will get very very gray the more that I shave it down and um but somebody tell me if I go too dark if it goes too dark tell me because there is nothing because there was times I would look at old pictures of my

02:55:00 - 02:55:15 | Speaker 4:

And I would, and I would put stuff in it and it looked horrible and I was like, oh my God. And so I kind of went away from it, but there are some guys that you're like, they're walking around and they got like gray eyebrows. Bro, like Huell Perkins, remember? That's right, Huell. Yeah, he had the whole mustache and leg, but the top was gray.

02:55:15 - 02:55:19 | Speaker 2:

There are some guys that dye it black, like it looks like a kindergartner painted their hair. It looks so bad.

02:55:20 - 02:55:29 | Speaker 4:

I always thought that was like a, that was a, like the black guys had different gray hair than white guys did. That wasn't Huell Perkins. Are you sure Huell wasn't normal? Really?

02:55:30 - 02:55:46 | Speaker 1:

Look at, bro, look. Come on, dog. The whole top of his head is silver and his mustache is black. Come on, dog. What were you doing? I don't know him any other way, though. Hula legend. Yeah. All respect to Hula, but come on, bro. Come on, bro. Come on, man. We can see what's going on.

02:55:46 - 02:55:50 | Speaker 4:

By the way, you guys got to stop doing this to me because every time you do that, I don't have my...

02:55:50 - 02:55:58 | Speaker 2:

Come on. This is the Midwest's number one morning show. And that's kind of sad. Mojo in the morning.

02:55:58 - 02:56:07 | Speaker 4:

WKQI Detroit WSNX Muskegon Grand Rapids WVKS Toledo This is Mojo in the Morning

02:56:07 - 02:56:09 | Speaker 1:

Oh Mojo, he's amazing

02:56:09 - 02:56:30 | Speaker 4:

Live Mojo in the Morning Show Why are you not getting a call back after you went on a date? We're going to find out this morning with the second date update Jeremy said he took her out for dinner Nice dinner Had a good evening or a good date and she's not calling him back and he wants to know what's going on. Where'd you guys go to eat?

02:56:31 - 02:56:33 | Speaker 2:

We went to Jay Alexander's.

02:56:33 - 02:56:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay, which one did you go to?

02:56:35 - 02:56:36 | Speaker 2:

The one at Somerset.

02:56:37 - 02:56:47 | Speaker 4:

Oh, a little, okay. All right, so Somerset is the mall in the Detroit area, but I love Jay Alexander's. Love me some Jay Alexander's. And now you're not getting a call back?

02:56:48 - 02:56:50 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm just very, very confused.

02:56:50 - 02:57:02 | Speaker 4:

so you said that she was like great on the date like everything was going good and then all of a sudden you guys say goodbye to each other do you guys kiss goodbye or how do you guys say goodbye

02:57:02 - 02:57:17 | Speaker 2:

to each other and what do you say uh no we didn't we didn't kiss goodbye uh we did a very very like very lovey hug i guess you could call it okay uh you know you don't want to go you don't want to go too forward on the first date,

02:57:17 - 02:57:22 | Speaker 4:

but... Okay. And did you guys meet on Hinge or Bumble or one of those?

02:57:23 - 02:57:26 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, we met on Hinge. Okay. It's a good one to meet people.

02:57:27 - 02:57:52 | Speaker 4:

By the way, I'm hearing a lot of positives on Hinge lately. I'm hearing some real positives about... I think they've updated her inventory. I think the inventory of singles is better on Hinge right now. On the phone with us is Bethany, and she's agreed to go on the radio with us hi bethany hi how's it going good bethany say hello to jeremy

02:57:52 - 02:58:02 | Speaker 2:

hello hi jeremy hey bethany uh long time no hear i know good to hear your voice

02:58:02 - 02:58:07 | Speaker 4:

by the way it sounds a little uh like you're embarrassed were you not calling

02:58:07 - 02:58:13 | Speaker 3:

jeremy on purpose or oh no no you know it's just a little awkward to talk about

02:58:14 - 02:58:19 | Speaker 4:

What's awkward about it? It sounded like you guys had a good date. He was just, he, he, all he told us was that you guys went to eat.

02:58:20 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, we, we met up, we went to Jay's at Somerset. Um, and I mean, it was like nice date. There were just things about, uh, about his vibe and his personality that I didn't feel super compatible with. That kind of rubbed me the wrong way.

02:58:37 - 02:58:37 | Speaker 2:

Like what?

02:58:37 - 02:59:00 | Speaker 3:

um well he was wearing he was wearing like a super expensive jacket and like a really nice watch and um i could just tell that he was super wealthy and he talked a lot on the date about how rich he was and how wealthy his family was you talked a lot about being rich

02:59:00 - 02:59:09 | Speaker 4:

yeah that doesn't sound like conversation though that you just like randomly bring up what what What was the context of you talking about this?

02:59:10 - 02:59:31 | Speaker 3:

Well, he was telling me about his job, and then he would show me his watch, and then he'd be like, you should come see my apartment at some point. I have a plasma screen TV or whatever. It was a lot of talking about material things, and he seemed very happy about his wealth, which was great, but it just was not my vibe.

02:59:32 - 02:59:34 | Speaker 4:

Okay. That seems kind of douchey. Like just braggy. Yeah.

02:59:35 - 02:59:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then, you know, that was fine, but then after we ate, we walked around the mall, and we got into kind of the more expensive areas, and he just really wanted to buy me stuff. And that was super generous, but I just was not into that. I don't know. It's not my vibe.

02:59:57 - 02:59:58 | Speaker 4:

Did he buy you anything?

02:59:58 - 03:00:09 | Speaker 3:

Right. Did you accept? Yeah, he bought me a couple things, and I was like, thank you so much. You did not need to do that. And he was like, no, no, no, you need it. You need it.

03:00:09 - 03:00:12 | Speaker 5:

Where did you buy her? Where did you buy her?

03:00:14 - 03:00:16 | Speaker 4:

I bought her a couple things from Louie.

03:00:17 - 03:00:17 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

03:00:18 - 03:00:19 | Speaker 6:

Oh, he's going crazy.

03:00:19 - 03:00:41 | Speaker 4:

Wait, on a first date? Yeah, this is all coming. This is like hitting me from the side. But I'm surprised that this is the reason why I'm not getting a call back. Like, I thought it was a really nice first date. I bought you a bunch of things from Louie. As far as I'm concerned, I upgraded you. Okay.

03:00:42 - 03:00:45 | Speaker 6:

Hey, what did he say? I'm going to let him say it. Say it again.

03:00:46 - 03:00:49 | Speaker 4:

As far as I'm concerned, I upgraded her.

03:00:50 - 03:00:53 | Speaker 1:

Okay. See? You had me at that.

03:00:53 - 03:01:04 | Speaker 5:

I was thinking to myself, oh, he sounds like a nice guy. He seems very generous. but for you to say you upgraded her is kind of i don't know shannon look hot right now no hot like

03:01:04 - 03:01:49 | Speaker 1:

like you're mad oh well i just feel and i know that we're gonna have the people that are like hey i'm single i would love to go get a louis or whatever but i i can see where bethany was very turned off by yeah that that attitude and that behavior like it's you don't douchebag i think You don't want somebody that is so in your face with all of that stuff. And the comment about you upgrading her, just real, that, I'm good. That was it. It was very nice. It was very generous. And I think your intention, you know, your heart was good, but I get it. Like, I don't want to hear somebody talk about how much money they have or tell me about how much money their watch cost. I don't care.

03:01:49 - 03:01:56 | Speaker 6:

See, but look, I don't know if his heart was in a good place. Because if he's coming from the perspective of I upgraded her. Yeah, you're right.

03:01:56 - 03:01:57 | Speaker 1:

You're right.

03:01:57 - 03:01:58 | Speaker 8:

You know what I mean?

03:01:58 - 03:02:00 | Speaker 5:

Listener Alicia. What did you want to say, Alicia?

03:02:01 - 03:02:10 | Speaker 8:

Hey, guys. Half jokingly, half seriously said Lydia in Texas. Give me his number. There you go.

03:02:10 - 03:02:12 | Speaker 5:

Would you like something from Louie?

03:02:13 - 03:02:22 | Speaker 8:

On a first date? I mean, that's extremely flattering. Like, I can see how it would make somebody feel uncomfortable, but also I feel like you have to express that.

03:02:22 - 03:02:23 | Unknown:

Yeah.

03:02:23 - 03:02:30 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, why did you not just say, this seems uncomfortable and I don't want anything? Like, why did you accept whatever it was at Louie?

03:02:32 - 03:02:42 | Speaker 3:

I was just nervous. I felt awkward. I didn't want to call him out for it. And he seemed very proud of his money. So I didn't want to, like, criticize him on the spot, you know? Typical response.

03:02:43 - 03:02:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God, bro. Typical in what way?

03:02:49 - 03:02:51 | Speaker 4:

Typical response from a simple woman.

03:02:52 - 03:02:52 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

03:02:53 - 03:02:55 | Speaker 4:

So here it comes. Wow. Here it comes.

03:02:55 - 03:02:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, see, this is not.

03:02:58 - 03:03:00 | Speaker 5:

How much money does your family have? I would like to know.

03:03:01 - 03:03:04 | Speaker 4:

I don't really want to disclose that publicly.

03:03:04 - 03:03:09 | Speaker 5:

No. How much money does Jeremy's family have that he sat there and was talking about how wealthy. Do you work for your dad?

03:03:11 - 03:03:19 | Speaker 4:

I don't really care to discuss those things. Okay. I'm very fortunate, and I thought things were going well. I guess not. Okay.

03:03:20 - 03:03:23 | Speaker 5:

Brandy, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning, second date update. What did you want to say?

03:03:24 - 03:03:43 | Speaker 7:

Hey, typically guys that display all of their wealth, they're kind of douchebags deep down on the inside. I feel like he's trying to reel her in and sink her or whatever. He's going to buy her love and affection and then turn into a douchebag once he has her.

03:03:43 - 03:04:06 | Speaker 5:

aging dr douchebag um no i i think that it doesn't come across good like if this was that he took her out for dinner spent a lot of money on her then said hey i want to buy you something okay cool but to yeah there's something wrong with him but to talk about how much money you have then to say on the radio just what he said i know it's a very different vibe that's how

03:04:06 - 03:04:16 | Speaker 6:

I started in Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Is that what it was? He started whining, Diary of a Mad Black Woman. Really? Blair Underwood character. He was whining and dawning, and he got crazy as soon as he got her.

03:04:17 - 03:04:19 | Speaker 5:

Really? Then he became possessive?

03:04:19 - 03:04:24 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, that's what it meant when Brandy said he'll change once he had. That's the person I thought of.

03:04:24 - 03:04:27 | Speaker 5:

That's what it was? What's up, Paul? How you doing? Shout out, Tyler Perry.

03:04:27 - 03:04:29 | Speaker 2:

Hey, good morning, guys. What's up?

03:04:29 - 03:04:30 | Speaker 5:

What's going on?

03:04:31 - 03:04:39 | Speaker 2:

Hey, I just wanted to say, I know this isn't an M-I-D-A hole, But after that guy's comment about upgrading here, I just had to call in and say that that guy's the a-hole.

03:04:40 - 03:04:59 | Speaker 5:

You know what? That is actually true. This is not a second date update that we're doing here right now. We have just gotten into an episode of our Tuesday morning features, the Amity the a-hole. Yeah. I don't know about you, but what's the most expensive thing that you did for a date? I think for me, it was maybe appetizers and dessert.

03:05:00 - 03:05:08 | Speaker 7:

By the way, speaking of that, when you guys were at J. Alexander's, did you guys get the spinach cheese dip?

03:05:09 - 03:05:10 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, we did.

03:05:11 - 03:05:25 | Speaker 7:

Did you? Okay. It is the best. It is the best. And the green extra chips, too. What do you think? I'm cheap? That's absolutely what I bought. What's happening? How you doing, Ron? I'm good. What's going on?

03:05:26 - 03:05:32 | Speaker 1:

I hope this guy finds him a nice, beautiful gold digger that takes him for half. So that's what he sounds like he needs.

03:05:32 - 03:05:36 | Speaker 7:

You need to be on that app that's got all the rich people on it.

03:05:37 - 03:05:43 | Speaker 1:

I mean, because apparently that's the only thing he brings to the table is money. So find somebody that's all they want.

03:05:44 - 03:05:49 | Speaker 7:

Yeah. He needs to be on Raya, whatever the heck it is. Ann, what's up?

03:05:50 - 03:05:51 | Speaker 1:

Hello. Can you hear me?

03:05:51 - 03:05:53 | Speaker 7:

I got you. Checker 1-2.

03:05:53 - 03:06:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi. I'm just wondering, is it your money or is it your daddy's money you're spending? I think this is so funny.

03:06:01 - 03:06:03 | Speaker 7:

It's family money. That's all you need to know.

03:06:03 - 03:06:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay, so it sounds like you don't work. And it sounds like you don't either. Okay. Damn.

03:06:13 - 03:06:17 | Speaker 7:

You have a little penis. All right, guys, no seconds.

03:06:17 - 03:06:22 | Speaker 6:

But a really expensive watch. Little penis, big, fancy watch.

03:06:22 - 03:06:28 | Speaker 7:

But if you would like to take a guy out, I would love to do some shopping with you. I'll see you later this week.
