00:02:37 - 00:02:38 | Unknown:

It's showtime!

00:02:57 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Good morning. Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's nice to have you listening today. It's going to be a gorgeous day. It's really, really nice. I think temperature's close to like 80 degrees. And we got a lot for you today. You know what? War of the Roses happening this morning. She thinks that her wife is cheating. And we make a phone call only to get a very big surprise on the other end. You have to listen for that. That's coming up. It's Tuesday, which means it's coming up after the 730 dirty. So please stick around for that. Got Am I the A-Hole this morning? And a mom wanting to know if she's an A-Hole for doing this at her kid's child party. And then, oh, you know who's in the name? This is actually a big one. We haven't done this in a while. She hasn't actually visited in a while, but she's hugely popular. Rebecca Rosen, the lady who can talk to dead people, is going to be on with us today. I don't know what just happened. My voice just all of a sudden became very interesting. Dead people. Rebecca wows us when she comes into the studio, and she gives us little things that I'm like, wait a second i think this woman's full of malarkey but then all of a sudden she'll like say oh and hold on a second mojo your dad's

00:05:00 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

And he wants to know And I'm like oh my god how does she know this stuff And you know what's wild There have been times Like I'm one of those people that used to be a doubter Then I became One of those ones was like uh oh This is not good stuff Like I don't want you know God getting mad at me For doing this And then I'm just kind of like Mesmerized by her beauty

00:05:22 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 1:

You know because she's very beautiful Rebecca is very very beautiful

00:05:27 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 3:

And it's interesting that she came up here on this day because typically when she's here, it's usually a time for Megan to shut off her microphone and just go, this woman's full of crap. Well, guess what? She can't shut off her microphone because she's in the studio with us this morning. Megan's up into the Detroit studios. You got a meeting or something after the show? Or what's the story?

00:05:47 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, my future ex-husband, Steve Gabar, is coming in today.

00:05:50 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, recording some commercials?

00:05:52 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 1:

Commercials.

00:05:53 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 3:

Well, you're going to have to be careful because you're sitting right there next to where Rebecca Rosen's going to take up microphone. I know. And I know that you're not a huge believer in this stuff. You think that this thing is like going to the carnival and talking to the psychic, the bad psychic.

00:06:10 - 00:06:13 | Speaker 1:

Correct, correct. I feel like we need a crystal ball in here.

00:06:15 - 00:06:26 | Speaker 3:

Do you think because she does not have one of those interesting looking outfits or doesn't talk with an interesting voice like Miss Cleo used to, do you think that she's not valid?

00:06:26 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 1:

I feel like Madam Zeroni is more believable at this point.

00:06:29 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

Thank you, KP. You know what? We have invited her in our studio many, many times. She has given us great ratings because the beauty is whether you love her or you hate her, you still listen to it.

00:06:45 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 1:

I think it's interesting.

00:06:47 - 00:06:47 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:06:48 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 1:

It's fascinating.

00:06:49 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 2:

She predicted stuff for me before. That's right. She talked to my dad, and my dad was talking about me building a family and doing all these other things. And it, I mean, it came true

00:06:58 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 3:

And she did not even know that Mike had sperm to build a family

00:07:02 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 2:

No, she had no idea that eventually that I would have the sex and make babies

00:07:08 - 00:07:14 | Speaker 3:

Actually, didn't she say some, like, specific things that only you and your dad knew, too? I remember you got pretty emotional

00:07:14 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't remember exactly Maybe we can ask her about it again today, but You know what's funny?

00:07:20 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 3:

You don't even ask her stuff She'll just all randomly just come up with it Like, that's the beauty of it

00:07:25 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

That is the crazy part, and it usually happens during a commercial break, and she always sits right next to me, and she'll lean over, and she'll say, is there something going on with your refrigerator right now because your grandma thinks it's hysterical? And I'm like, I have never even said that to, like, why would I talk about that with anybody? What's going, just like the craziest little things.

00:07:46 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

If you would like to talk to Rebecca, if you have, you know, an idea of what you want to talk about you can text us at 95500 and uh lydia is going to get back to you and then uh if you want to come down to the studio you can too i mean she's going to be in here like after 8 30 so if you'd like to uh to come on by and get a chance to to meet her so you get text us first though so that we can you know talk to you off the air uh 95500 excuse me um so rebecca rosen the lady who talks to the dead coming up here in just a little bit uh yesterday i left the studio late and i was starving and it was one of those days where i was like man this thing can only require like a big deli sandwich and i went to this deli and i won't name which deli it was because i got a complaint to to wage against them um i went in to go eat by myself which is something that is very brave for me to do because I am not a go to a movie or eat by myself kind

00:08:48 - 00:08:52 | Speaker 1:

of a guy. Wait, you didn't order it to just take it back to your car and eat alone? Like a normal

00:08:52 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

person? I would have, but the last time that I ordered a club sandwich and ate it in my car, I had turkey and bacon and mayonnaise. My steering wheel looked like it was it looked like I had actually put some kind of like glowing stuff on it because it was all full of mayonnaise and things. But But, see, I still got the mayonnaise causing me to get, eh, mm, ah, ah.

00:09:19 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 1:

I love how you say sandwich, by the way, because sandwich.

00:09:22 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Sandwich. So I asked the waitress to do something, and she refused. And tell me if you guys think that this is kind of weird, or maybe I was out of line. I gave her my phone with a phone charger and asked if she could plug in my phone for me. and I was at like 10% and I didn't want to not have a phone charge because I was going to the doctor right afterwards and going to the doctor requires a very long visit and I wanted to at least have some like phone life on me. So I handed her that and said, Hey.

00:10:00 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 2:

could you do me a favor? And she grabs my phone, you know, from me, like weird, like I'm handing this. I said, could you just plug this in for me and, you know, let me charge it while I'm eating here? And she goes, hold on one second, and puts it back down on the table, comes back and then comes back and says, I'm sorry, but the manager says that we're not allowed to do that. And I'm like, not allowed to do that? What's wrong with, like, what could quite possibly be wrong with just giving me an outlet? Like, I looked around where I was sitting, and seeing if there was an outfit outlet anywhere and couldn't find it. And she's like, no, we're not allowed to do that. And I was like, oh, that's kind of weird. So then I was like thinking to myself, I'm like, maybe I should go eat it in my car, you know, so I can get the charge going. Right. But I got kind of carried away with, why would they not want you to charge?

00:10:47 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 3:

Is it a liability that if something happens to your phone or if it goes missing?

00:10:50 - 00:11:13 | Speaker 2:

I asked the manager to come over to the table. And then the guy came over to the table and he comes over and he goes, yes. And I go, yeah, I just wanted to see if you could, you know, use maybe you got a charger or something behind the counter or something like that. Could you please plug this in for me? And she told me you couldn't do it. And she goes, here, he goes, yeah, we don't like to plug in people's chargers into our outlets because we're afraid that our something could happen to our outlets.

00:11:13 - 00:11:28 | Speaker 3:

I'm going, oh, because so many people put like cameras and stuff and USB chargers. They don't want you filming back there, maybe filming. All I want is a charge. Yeah, but you know how, like, even in hotels or Airbnbs, people would have those USB phone chargers that had cameras in them.

00:11:29 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 2:

Well, I was just, all it was was an Apple charger that had, like, the little cube at the end of it.

00:11:34 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 3:

Right.

00:11:35 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 2:

But what is that?

00:11:36 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 3:

That's where people were putting the cameras. Really? Yeah.

00:11:38 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 2:

I'm not that high tech. I did not know that.

00:11:40 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 3:

You guys, am I on this weird side of TikTok and YouTube where it tells me? No, I'm scared that I'm on the internet. Yeah, I hate hotels because going in, I know where all the cameras are usually hidden. And then I'm like, they're streaming me online. But I feel like nowadays, everybody, a lot of like restaurants or bars will even have chargers behind the bar and they'll just hand you the, the, the little, the little, the little end that you stick in your phone or whatever it is.

00:12:02 - 00:12:02 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:12:03 - 00:12:07 | Speaker 3:

Right. Yeah. It's not a big deal. Well, you're very untrustworthy, so I can see their trepidation.

00:12:08 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 2:

I got done with talking to him and my sandwich then arrived and I thought, this is ridiculous. So I got up and started walking around the restaurant with my phone and my charger looking to see if I could find, because I knew that there had to be an outlet somewhere. And then I walk up and there's like the sign that says, you know, that's plugged in and it's got like the Coca-Cola thing plugged into it. You do not unplug it. And I'm thinking, would they be upset if I just unplugged it for like one second and plugged my phone in there, you know, just to kind of get it charged. But I thought that is just weird. That's weird that they would ask that, you know, or they say that they couldn't charge the thing. What are they going to do? Kick you out of a deli? Well, no, but listen, first off, the sandwich cost me like $15 or $16. It was an expensive sandwich.

00:12:54 - 00:12:57 | Speaker 3:

You deserve rent at an outlet for that kind of price.

00:12:58 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 2:

I mean, but it's not asking a lot. I mean, I got to tell you something. I have like people all the time that will come into the studio here from time to time, ask us to, you know, if they could plug in their phones. And we let them plug in their phones when we probably shouldn't because it could turn the power of the radio station off. I mean, that happens without us plugging in phones. Yeah, we've had that happen. Remember that? We had it one time where we plugged in something and it ended up shocking us off the air.

00:13:25 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

Shannon kicked a cord the other day and Toledo and Grand Rapids went off the air.

00:13:30 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

But I don't know. To me, it's, I don't know. Is it rude, by the way, to ask somebody if they could charge your phone or if they could plug in your phone for you?

00:13:40 - 00:13:41 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. No.

00:13:41 - 00:14:11 | Speaker 2:

I mean, I've had it before where I've given people rides, and I mean, I thought that was somewhat rude when they asked me to, hey, can I plug into your plug, Shannon? You did that on Friday when we were going to the, yeah, can you plug in my, you don't remember, you were so drunk after the Naughty Mom's Night Out. You were like in the way, way back of the thing, and you said, hey, can you plug my phone in for me, please? I was at, you were at like 5%. Hold on, Derek wants to call me out. What's that, Derek?

00:14:12 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 1:

All right. I think you're kind of being a Karen there. Like, you asked the first person and then the second person, and, like, it clearly wasn't happening. It's kind of like some Karen slash boomer vibes going on.

00:14:24 - 00:14:31 | Speaker 2:

Derek, they weren't giving me a straight answer. Why could they not tell me why they couldn't let me plug in the phone?

00:14:33 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 1:

They didn't want to do it. No means no. Derek.

00:14:37 - 00:14:44 | Speaker 3:

I feel like your mom and dad said that to you a lot. It is just ingrained in your brain. No means no. No!

00:14:45 - 00:14:51 | Speaker 2:

Derek, come on. To me, it was kind of a-hole-y of them to do that. I wasn't being a Karen, was I?

00:14:53 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 1:

A little bit. I used to wear fast food, so I get it, because it's one thing you've got to worry about somebody's phone.

00:15:00 - 00:15:09 | Speaker 8:

being back there and then you probably get busy and forget it or if you do get busy then you gotta stop what you're doing to give somebody their phone back well let's let's run through the

00:15:09 - 00:15:16 | Speaker 7:

karen checklist did you uh get overly upset and and want to talk to the manager yeah oh my well

00:15:16 - 00:15:29 | Speaker 8:

are you talking about it really loud to other people yeah yeah i mean all right i think i don't have anything else to even add to that checklist I think we know our answer.

00:15:29 - 00:15:31 | Speaker 2:

Do you have a really short haircut?

00:15:33 - 00:15:43 | Speaker 9:

You got me. Okay. Derek, Mike, and KP are all a-holes today. What's going on? Diane, what's happening? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:15:44 - 00:15:46 | Speaker 2:

Nothing much, but I've been listening to you.

00:15:47 - 00:16:10 | Speaker 5:

Invest in a phone power bank. No. No, Diane. Do you know how many of those I own? First of all, they're very expensive. Second of all, I always forget to charge them, so they're useless. I was going to say, absolutely. useless and then if you leave it on the charger overnight it starts draining super quickly and i spent 150 for something to charge my phone 30 those are a scam an absolute scam i only paid

00:16:10 - 00:16:15 | Speaker 6:

30 bucks for mine but you're right i always forget to charge that so it doesn't even make sense or

00:16:15 - 00:16:19 | Speaker 5:

they put a flashlight button on the side and then it drains its entire power bank because it was

00:16:19 - 00:16:24 | Speaker 9:

floating in your purse and hit something no wait so are you talking about like a mophie is that

00:16:24 - 00:16:30 | Speaker 6:

you're talking about so a phone power bank i got one from amazon i've got i've got 8 000 of them

00:16:30 - 00:17:13 | Speaker 9:

forget to bring them but i never i know what's the company where you could actually buy it and then turn it into a vending machine and then they give you a charging one what's that one i've done that one too and i have those laying around like music festivals you can get them you can you can get them pretty much at like yeah like cvs walgreens too and basically what it is it's remember how Netflix used to be like red boxes yeah you can go in like return it back in and it's got a charge on the whole thing yeah I'm telling you this is this is the big deal if I ever open up a restaurant I'm gonna open it it's gonna be called mojos and we're gonna have chargers all over the place we're gonna and we're gonna everything's gonna be right there for you

00:17:13 - 00:17:32 | Speaker 6:

because they should if they do that in New York City when I was in New York City with Lucy this past December all of the restaurants had these little like you open this little box and you could stick your phone in there and with a charge and lock it yep and I love it so while you were sitting there eating your and it was a quick charge and why are airports the only place in public that

00:17:32 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 9:

you can charge your phone I don't know they need more places Michaela knows the reason why they

00:17:38 - 00:18:05 | Speaker 2:

wouldn't let me do it what is that Michaela I think it's a liability issue because at my work I mean, it's completely different, but, like, sometimes people want us to, like, watch their kids or something, and it's like, no, I can't watch your kid because if something happens, you're going to blame me. So if your phone isn't in your eyesight and they have it behind the counter and, say, it gets stolen or, you know, something gets stolen off of it, then, you know, it's their fault. It's interesting.

00:18:05 - 00:18:13 | Speaker 9:

It's interesting that you say that. People will ask you to watch your kids. I honestly would be more cautious of people watching my phone than watching my kids.

00:18:13 - 00:18:17 | Speaker 6:

But the manager could have just said, hey, I'm going to plug it in for you, but if anything happens to it, we're not liable, okay?

00:18:18 - 00:18:18 | Speaker 9:

Yeah.

00:18:18 - 00:18:30 | Speaker 2:

That was it. That's right. True. They might want something more permanent, though, because then you could just say that everything happened, and then it becomes he said, she said, if it goes to court or something like that. Hopefully, it wouldn't come to that, but.

00:18:31 - 00:18:37 | Speaker 9:

This is the thing. What it taught me was to do exactly what Megan said at the very beginning of this. Just eat in my car.

00:18:37 - 00:18:38 | Unknown:

You know?

00:18:39 - 00:18:44 | Speaker 9:

I'm just going to get my car all messy, and who gives a rat's ass? I'm going to have a charged phone.

00:18:45 - 00:18:53 | Speaker 4:

How smart are you? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. We have to go back in time. Where we give you a bunch of events, and you tell us what year it happened.

00:18:53 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 3:

It was the year that Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello started dating. She'll text me if I ever am kind of just being bitey with her, and she'll be like, it's okay, I love you no matter what, I love you no matter what. And it's like, that's real strength and patience and love. But it's amazing. It's like a movie.

00:19:08 - 00:19:12 | Speaker 9:

Remember when the Popeye's chicken sandwich came out and there was a shortage of them?

00:19:13 - 00:19:23 | Speaker 1:

Long lines outside of Popeye's. Those who brave the roughly hour-long wait are rewarded with the latest sensation, a Popeye's chicken sandwich. Others back away.

00:19:23 - 00:19:25 | Speaker 4:

Man, I've seen this long line.

00:19:25 - 00:19:41 | Speaker 9:

And Ed Sheeran and Khalid had the big song. What year was this? Good luck. We got some tickets. Logic tickets plus chance for a meet and greet.

00:19:42 - 00:19:56 | Speaker 4:

In what year did that crap happen? Call us at 844-MOJO-LIVE to tell us. 844-665-6548. How good is your memory? It's Mojo in the mornings back in the day. What year did this stuff happen?

00:19:57 - 00:19:59 | Speaker 9:

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello started.

00:20:00 - 00:20:13 | Speaker 1:

their fake romance in this year she'll text me and if i if i ever am kind of just being bitey with her and she'll be like it's okay i love you no matter what i love you no matter what and it's like that that's real strength and patience and love um but it's amazing it's like a movie

00:20:13 - 00:20:21 | Speaker 4:

popeyes came out with their chicken sandwich and it sold out fast long lines outside of popeyes

00:20:21 - 00:20:30 | Speaker 2:

those who brave the roughly hour-long wait are rewarded with the latest sensation A Popeye's chicken sandwich Others back away Man, I've seen this long line

00:20:30 - 00:20:33 | Speaker 4:

And the big song

00:20:33 - 00:20:45 | Speaker 2:

What year was it?

00:20:45 - 00:20:48 | Speaker 4:

We'll set you up with the prize Hi, Nicole

And what's going on this morning, Shannon?

00:22:19 - 00:23:11 | Speaker 5:

Well, that Britney Spears documentary aired on Fox last night. TMZ was the one that did it. But probably the biggest takeaway from this thing is that Britney hasn't seen her son in well over a year. A year. TMZ investigates Britney Spears' The Price of Freedom alleges by the end of the past summer, so 2022, Tensions got so bad that Sean Preston and Jaden weren't even responding to their mom's text messages. Another source confirming that the last time Britney saw her boys was at the very beginning of 2022, before her wedding to Sam Yaskari. And, you know, her relationship with her sons has been on the rocks for a while. before it really did come to a head when the boys criticized her parenting skills.

00:23:11 - 00:23:12 | Speaker 4:

And we're recording her.

00:23:12 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 5:

And we're recording her. And remember then their dad, Brittany's ex, Kevin Federline, got involved and said, you know, her showing off her naked body on Instagram is not helping here. And then soon after that, Brittany said she was saddened to hear the way the boys and Kevin really spoke about her to the press. Remember, then she started posting all of those things on social media about her boys and how disappointed she was. So, you know, the documentary said last night that things are starting to thaw a little bit. Apparently, there have been some occasional texts between Britney and her kids. So, baby steps here.

00:23:53 - 00:23:53 | Speaker 4:

I watched it.

00:23:54 - 00:23:55 | Speaker 5:

What did you think of it?

00:23:55 - 00:23:56 | Speaker 4:

It was a nothing burger.

00:23:57 - 00:23:58 | Speaker 5:

Really? I was worried.

00:23:59 - 00:24:00 | Speaker 4:

It was a TMZ.

00:24:00 - 00:24:01 | Speaker 5:

It was clickbait?

00:24:01 - 00:24:48 | Speaker 4:

Special, yeah, with a bunch of people who you're like, okay, this is the guy from TMZ commenting on this. And then they had a couple of people from the music industry that were there. I just thought it was just so, you know, there wasn't anything that was revealing to me about Britney. They did say, they were talking at the end, they're like that they believe that Britney is going to come back and have a big comeback and her comeback is going to be she's either going to do electronic music or she's going to be going country. Those were the two speculations that the music industry is having that Britney's going to do that. And they talked about how she could make a killing if she wanted to by doing, again, her residency in Vegas because her residency did great. But she said it was so much work and it brings back the bad memories of when she felt like she was part of slave labor at the time because her family was making her good. So everything that we've already known.

00:24:48 - 00:25:10 | Speaker 5:

She's already talked about all of this. They were just regurgitating. I'm glad I watched Shrinking instead. So good, by the way. On Mother's Day, Kim Kardashian posted some video messages that she received from each of her. kids her her sister chloe actually put this together for her it was really sweet i can't believe i missed this yesterday but it was seven year old saints video message that fans are still

00:25:10 - 00:25:25 | Speaker 2:

reacting to this morning mom i'm very grateful for you i know i'm rude to you a lot i say you're nothing to me but you mean the world to me i say you're nothing to me i say you're nothing to me

00:25:25 - 00:25:32 | Speaker 5:

Fans are like, wait, that's a really backhanded compliment. I mean, he's seven. Look at his dad.

00:25:32 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 1:

But you're nothing to me. Listen, the biggest gossip of them all you're going to talk about later today, right? About who there's rumors that she is with.

00:25:42 - 00:25:42 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah.

00:25:43 - 00:25:47 | Speaker 1:

It's caused for my wife to tell me that I can no longer be a fan of this person, if that's the case.

00:25:47 - 00:25:49 | Speaker 5:

Everybody knows who it is now.

00:25:49 - 00:25:50 | Speaker 1:

All right, so keep listening.

00:25:51 - 00:25:57 | Speaker 5:

Lizzo's sharing a first look at her appearance on the season finale of The Simpsons.

00:25:59 - 00:26:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, are you little?

00:26:00 - 00:26:08 | Speaker 4:

This beat is fire. Yo, Lisa, how about I get Sasha Flute, you get your saxophone, and we jam.

00:26:09 - 00:26:10 | Unknown:

I'd love to.

00:26:13 - 00:26:23 | Speaker 5:

She said, by the way, doing that was a dream come true. The 34th season finale is titled Homer's Adventure Through the Windshield Glass. It is set to air this coming Sunday.

00:26:23 - 00:26:28 | Speaker 1:

How's she doing, by the way? She got faced with pretty much what everybody's been getting.

00:26:28 - 00:26:31 | Speaker 5:

The strep throat. That strep throat tonsillitis thing, yeah.

00:26:31 - 00:26:32 | Speaker 1:

A lot of people getting that. Yeah.

00:26:33 - 00:26:52 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, I will leave you with this. A new Instagram video shows Luke Combs teaching Ed Sheeran the very fine art of shotgunning a can of beer. By the way, for context, Luke is, uh, what's his shooting? Shotgun. Shot, shot, shot. Luke is teaching me out of shotgun a bit.

00:26:52 - 00:27:08 | Speaker 3:

You want to be mindful of where your top is here, right? Because once that opens, beer's coming out of that if it's pointing at you now. And once you're up, then you crack the top and it's just going to go. You want me to go first or you want to go together? I think we're going together, right? Okay. All right, count us down. Three, two, one.

00:27:10 - 00:27:14 | Speaker 5:

Have you never done this before? I don't believe that. He's a virgin. I don't believe that.

00:27:14 - 00:27:18 | Speaker 4:

The fact that he didn't joke and he also did it in like three seconds, he's done that before.

00:27:18 - 00:27:20 | Speaker 5:

Or maybe he's just very talented.

00:27:20 - 00:27:21 | Unknown:

I don't know.

00:27:21 - 00:27:25 | Speaker 5:

00:32:33 - 00:32:39 | Speaker 1:

Well, you know that when you take on Shannon, I always throw questions in there about sports or rappers. Yeah.

00:32:57 - 00:33:05 | Speaker 2:

Okay, these, they wheeled them into the radio station yesterday. They are absolutely insane.

00:33:05 - 00:33:36 | Speaker 1:

00:33:42 - 00:33:44 | Speaker 2:

00:33:44 - 00:33:46 | Speaker 1:

00:33:46 - 00:33:49 | Speaker 2:

I love a good Sauvignon Blanc. Pinot Noirs.

00:33:49 - 00:34:03 | Speaker 1:

00:34:03 - 00:34:04 | Speaker 2:

Riesling or Moscato.

00:34:04 - 00:34:06 | Speaker 1:

Mike wants a box wine. Cynthia, you got any box wine?

00:34:06 - 00:34:07 | Speaker 2:

Slap the bag.

00:34:08 - 00:34:51 | Speaker 1:

There. It's Mojo in the Morning 5 at 6.55. Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number's 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. That is our telephone number. and you can always text 95500 if you do text be looking for a call because that's us usually calling to tell you to come on the air with us and we want to get you on with us uh and say whatever the comment is that you you told us um so shannon you were having some uh some things done around the house is it a fence that you're you're doing or what's just yeah i had a uh my

00:34:51 - 00:37:21 | Speaker 2:

fence, I think was like 20 plus years old. I had like a wooden fence that the previous, previous owners of the house that I live in had put in. and it rotted and fell over on a couple of different sides. So I had- Oh, you're that neighbor. I was that neighbor. And all last summer and over the winter, Wes had taken a rope to several different parts of it and tied it to trees so that we could keep it up so it looked real fancy if you ever spent any time in my backyard. So I decided it was time to get a new fence, which, by the way, is really expensive. Oh, don't even tell me about it. my goodness i really did not realize that wood could cost that much money um so i used a fence company that i i'm not going to name them by the way because i'm about to say something not nice about them but i used a fence company that i see all over my neighborhood like they have little signs on all of the fences that they put up so i thought okay everybody uses them i'm going to use them um the fence by the way went in last week it looks absolutely incredible they did a great job You guys were over. I don't even know if you noticed that. It's not a super fun thing to like, hey, look at my new fence. No, I saw it and I was like, whoa, that's a nice fence. You are a good friend and also a dick. Okay, so I got the new fence. It truly looks great. Sparkled. However, the guys who put it in legit wind everything in my backyard, They sliced my internet line. So for two days I had no internet. I had to call my internet company and they had to come out and rewire that internet, which isn't that big of a deal. Yes, it is. But it did suck to not have internet for two days until they could come out. They also somehow cut or did something when they were digging to a DTE line and created a whole bunch of sparks and my power went out. So when I came home from work, I had no power. and DTE was at my house and I'm like oh okay that's not good and then I had two neighbors text me complaining that the workers left big messes in their yard so the neighbor behind me and then my very very sweet neighbors who I'm very close with on the one side of me um and so I had to like reach out to this company and say can you can you please come back and you know fix what

00:37:21 - 00:37:25 | Speaker 1:

did they say about what did they say about the uh cutting the lines and stuff did they leave that on

00:37:25 - 00:37:36 | Speaker 2:

you they didn't say anything and apparently when when i signed the contract that's part of it that they're not responsible for all of that stuff which kind of stinks so i so it's funny uh that

00:37:36 - 00:37:40 | Speaker 1:

that same thing thing happened to me well it finishes is there more to it did they do something

00:37:40 - 00:38:02 | Speaker 2:

more to you well they just haven't come back yet so last night so last night i was sitting on the porch waiting for my dog to pee and i see my neighbor next door come over and he's like they still haven't come back i he's like i called the company for you because i didn't want you to have to deal with it anymore i'm like i don't want you to have to deal with it you weren't the one that put in the fence i feel so bad and so embarrassed it sucks if you ever if you've ever had like

00:38:02 - 00:38:22 | Speaker 1:

somebody come to your house to fix something and then they completely broke like 8 000 things that but they fixed that one thing you'll have to call us up at 844 mojo live we had a similar kind of thing happen to us but you have to call like this company called miss dig yes and they come out and they they mark all the lines like that uh that are all i don't know if miss digs a national thing

00:38:22 - 00:38:28 | Speaker 2:

So everything was marked. I have to say everything was marked and they weren't, like I wasn't getting a fence put in in a new spot.

00:38:28 - 00:39:25 | Speaker 1:

So we had a similar thing happen where we had this company come out and they did, they were doing, we had to have a drainage thing done. And normally I would call my buddy Chad over at Chad's Landscaping, but this thing was like something that was like big piping and things that had to get done. This guy came out and I'm not kidding you when I say this to you. everywhere there was one of those misdig like markings and a little thing a little flag it was torn up and I look and I go excuse me isn't the whole point of having these people come out who are professionals that know where the lines are to make you not go in those areas and the guy actually I saw the guy looking out the backyard the guy saw the guy moving the little things but you can't move the spray paint that's on the ground so I walked outside after we just same thing situation happened. Listen, here's the thing. Come fix whatever you want. You cut my Wi-Fi in my house,

00:39:25 - 00:39:59 | Speaker 2:

I will come outside and I'll cut you. I was upset about it because my home is like a dead zone for my phone. I have AT&T. Can't get a signal to save my life for whatever reason in my house. I have to use my internet like my Wi-Fi. The kids, you would have thought it was Armageddon. That the kids couldn't watch TV because I have YouTube TV so I have to have the internet. oh my it was the end of the world well god forbid i'd be left alone with my own thoughts that's my worst fear it's the worst yes it really was and sales alicia bailey was bugging me for

00:40:00 - 00:40:10 | Speaker 6:

stuff. Oh, that's a good point. I think she thought I was lying to her. I'm like, I can't send you this stuff tonight unless I pack up the kids and go to Starbucks to send

00:40:10 - 00:40:16 | Speaker 5:

it all to you. I'm telling you, Mike, I don't know how you are in your house, but I'd rather lose my air conditioning, my power, and everything else before I

00:40:16 - 00:40:25 | Speaker 1:

lost my head. Oh, 100%. It'd be like the walking dead in my house. Like, we have to survive. We're eating out of cans because we cannot function. What's up, Pam? Hi. Beans.

00:40:26 - 00:41:01 | Speaker 4:

Well, we have a fence story too so our neighbors asked if it was okay to put up a fence and we're like yeah no problem and it was a black rod iron fence beautiful fence and not only did they cut our sprinkler line and that tell us they dug the post holes put the post in there put the dirt back in no cement then they zip tied the fence together yeah and okay so if you want to zip tie that's fine, but don't use white ones. Use black ones to match it. Yeah, because it's a black wrought iron. It looks so bad.

00:41:02 - 00:41:03 | Speaker 5:

Could be, who knows?

00:41:03 - 00:41:07 | Speaker 4:

I would love to have you as my neighbor with a nice fence. Oh, okay.

00:41:07 - 00:41:11 | Speaker 6:

Well, there are big piles of dirt everywhere, apparently, and leftover wood

00:41:11 - 00:41:15 | Speaker 5:

and they hate me right now. Hi, Trent. What's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

00:41:16 - 00:41:17 | Speaker 2:

How you doing? Good. What's

00:41:17 - 00:41:19 | Speaker 5:

going on? Good.

00:41:19 - 00:41:41 | Speaker 2:

I got a comment for that. I actually had a, my My power lines to my house at 3 o'clock in the morning get knocked over by my neighbor's tree. I've been trying to get them to cut down for about two years. Well, I called the electrical company, come out, and they actually destroyed my patio and my fireplace in my backyard, cutting down the tree. They just threw the limbs everywhere.

00:41:42 - 00:41:48 | Speaker 6:

It's really fun. Owning a home is so much fun. Serves you right. Don't do it. Please don't do it. If you're renting, stay renting.

00:41:50 - 00:41:54 | Speaker 5:

You should have just lived with whatever the mess was. Shannon should have just had a bad fence in her yard.

00:41:54 - 00:41:58 | Speaker 6:

I had bungee cords and rope holding it up. Yeah.

00:41:59 - 00:42:01 | Speaker 5:

What's up, Mary? How you doing?

00:42:02 - 00:43:10 | Speaker 3:

Hey. So talking about buying a new house, we bought a new house in July, and the first thing we wanted to do was put in a fence. We got a company. All was good. They're like, hey, we're really backed up. We won't do it until September. No problem. No problem. But then in August, I get a phone call from my gas company, and they're like, hey, we have a backhoe in your yard because your fence people already put in a fence. And I was like, what's up to get a fence? And they're like, yeah. So they didn't call the oop line. They hit the line in there, and now we're digging it up, and you should come home. So my husband rushes home, and it was all of our new house, all of our new landscaping that we just bought, all torn up. And then they also, we had a tree line. They decided to put the fence right through the tree line to connect to our neighbor's yard. That wasn't in the plan. And then it gets worse. In October, we were sitting in our new house, and we started to see some cracks on the wall. And then the cracks even got worse. and basically they had hit our foundation.

00:43:11 - 00:43:12 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God.

00:43:13 - 00:43:28 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my goodness. It was like, this is our new house that we've been in for three months, and so we had to get the foundation fixed. Stupid dumbass. All because they tried to build the fence before we gave the green light. Yeah.

00:43:29 - 00:43:35 | Speaker 5:

By the way, these are the people that were trusting to do the work for us, you know? Man.

00:43:36 - 00:43:36 | Speaker 3:

Exactly.

00:43:37 - 00:43:44 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's tough. I will say this, though. There are those reputable ones. There are those companies that you can hire that are good.

00:43:44 - 00:43:47 | Speaker 6:

This one is very reputable.

00:43:47 - 00:43:48 | Speaker 5:

Oh, they're fabulous. They sound like it.

00:43:48 - 00:43:51 | Speaker 6:

It's just, you know, I don't know why I have bad luck.

00:43:51 - 00:43:57 | Speaker 5:

If you would like to be without cable, without power.

00:43:57 - 00:43:59 | Speaker 6:

There were sparks. There were sparks playing.

00:43:59 - 00:44:07 | Speaker 5:

Without power and have me leave all my crap on your yard. Hire Bob's Fencing Company. Not who it was. I will not name them

00:44:07 - 00:44:11 | Speaker 6:

Use the promo code

00:44:11 - 00:45:29 | Speaker 5:

Stupid dumbass And you get yourself a deal Mojo in the morning Hey we are about An hour or so away From having a special guest In studio with us That spirit medium Rebecca Rosen Who you've heard before on our show Is coming in today she's the one who can talk to your loved ones who have passed if there's like maybe something that was left unsaid before somebody died or maybe there was a little questions as to a death she has been there for us in the past to be able to talk to your loved ones or maybe Thank you.

00:45:00 - 00:46:29 | Speaker 1:

somebody that you knew that died that you're like i need to know the answer to this one um she's going to be in with us about an hour from now and if you would like to talk to her you can text us at 95500 and tell us why you want to talk to her and then uh we'll grab some people uh i do have to uh tell you that and we started the show off talking about this and i just want to reiterate this that um there's a lot of skeptics and i totally understand that matter of fact i think that there's probably those that uh become very very skeptical like i did in the beginning and then they'll hear something from her and they'll go well they get that was just a coincidence or whatever like that but until you have her talk to you and say something to you that you've never told like one specifically was my uh my father who always comes through it seems like and it's so funny because if you ever met my dad, God rest his soul, he was a beautiful man. He was Cuban, and he was a personality and a half. He was always so talkative. Like if you were sitting there having a conversation, he was like me. He could hear other people's conversations, and he would throw in little things to it. That's kind of what he does when we do this, and I'm asking you, Dad, as you're listening to us right now, Don't interrupt other people's readings He's done this before I love when he does though

00:46:29 - 00:46:36 | Speaker 4:

There's the smell of cigar smoke Isn't it something like that And then there's a rainbow or something

00:46:36 - 00:47:21 | Speaker 1:

No it's the cardinal Yeah I got the cardinal The cardinal on the back porch of my sister's house She still has it The cardinal is there all the time on the back porch And then for my mom There's a dove And the interesting thing was she pinpointed that jacob was the one that was getting the signs uh because jacob used to have uh you know a cardinal that would come on the back of his window all the time too and uh yeah crap all over our deck thanks dad i appreciate that from you um all right mojo in the morning megan wants to call out mike for something what what is it that mike's doing i

00:47:21 - 00:47:44 | Speaker 3:

think that mike is up to illegal and i believe this word is correct i'm going to go with it with confidence and it might not be illicit activities thank you thank you thank you have you been uh noticed that i've been playing scrabble online lots of big words today the vocabulary is expanding guys word by word how good how good were you at wordle did you do wordle or

00:47:44 - 00:47:45 | Speaker 1:

Were you never a Wordle person?

00:47:45 - 00:47:50 | Speaker 3:

I was a Wordle person, but I was always too embarrassed to post my score because I never got it until like the last one.

00:47:50 - 00:47:52 | Speaker 1:

People, by the way, that still post their scores on Wordle.

00:47:52 - 00:47:54 | Speaker 3:

Oh, good for you.

00:47:54 - 00:47:57 | Speaker 1:

No, it's time to move on. It's time to move on. It's time to move on. I agree.

00:47:57 - 00:48:31 | Speaker 3:

I believe you also still play Farmville and ask for points on Facebook. So Mike is up to what I can only imagine is the worst type of activities because I have never in my life seen a more illegal license plate than I did on the back of one Michael Aguilar's car. I swear to God, you guys, picture a piece of aluminum foil just taped to the back of a car, and that's what his license plate looked like. No numbers or letters? No paint? No nothing.

00:48:31 - 00:48:32 | Speaker 4:

Mike, you're going to get a ticket.

00:48:32 - 00:48:38 | Speaker 2:

I don't think it's illegal, is it? It's still illegal. You can still see it.

00:48:38 - 00:48:47 | Speaker 1:

You can still see the numbers. No, you cannot. So it's not like your license plate is defaced. It just lost its face. Is that what you're saying? Yeah, yeah.

00:48:48 - 00:49:04 | Speaker 2:

At some point during the last two years, I don't know when it happened, the snow and ice and salt and everything, it ripped off the paint from my license plate, and I just have never gotten it changed. No, I think they have to change all the numbers and everything, don't they?

00:49:04 - 00:49:12 | Speaker 3:

There's no way he didn't put paint stripper on the back of this license plate and hang it back up. There's not a lick of paint left on it. Do you think

00:49:12 - 00:49:16 | Speaker 1:

that, like, I don't know if there's a cop listening that could tell us, is that something that Mike could get a ticket

00:49:16 - 00:49:24 | Speaker 3:

for? Yes! Why? Because he can hit and run people. He can run lights. He can, whatever he wants. Nobody knows his license plate.

00:49:24 - 00:49:28 | Speaker 1:

As long as he's got the newest tag, he's fine, I think.

00:49:28 - 00:49:30 | Speaker 3:

Do you just have a sticker on a metal plate?

00:49:31 - 00:49:34 | Speaker 2:

With numbers on there that look silver. I know

00:49:34 - 00:49:43 | Speaker 4:

in the state of Michigan, if your Letters and numbers are like Peely and not Like visible You can get a ticket for that

00:49:43 - 00:50:03 | Speaker 3:

Well you can get pulled over for that for sure And I wish more people would get tickets And you know who you are You have those tinted things On top of your license plates So that you can get away with stuff too And I hate you Why do you feel like everybody's doing this to get away That is Why do you think that people aren't just doing it because they like it? They think it looks cool.

00:50:03 - 00:50:20 | Speaker 6:

Okay, so in the state of Ohio, we have red light cameras and speed cameras everywhere. So people do it so that they can't get their tickets in the mail. And our cops don't have to pull us over. They can hit you with a speed gun, take a picture, and then mail you your ticket. So a lot of people do it so that they can't get mailed their tickets. So they're smart.

00:50:21 - 00:50:22 | Speaker 3:

The people are smart to do that.

00:50:22 - 00:50:27 | Speaker 6:

It's illegal. You know who gets more tickets because of those people? Me. And I'm sick of it.

00:50:27 - 00:50:29 | Speaker 2:

So you want everybody else to get tickets too then? Yes.

00:50:29 - 00:50:30 | Speaker 6:

Why would you get more tickets?

00:50:30 - 00:50:33 | Speaker 2:

Why would that be the reason you get more tickets?

00:50:33 - 00:50:39 | Speaker 6:

Because my license plate can be clearly red, and I'm just as Speedy Gonzales as everybody else.

00:50:39 - 00:50:41 | Speaker 3:

Are you the type of person that told on kids in school?

00:50:41 - 00:50:43 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely. You didn't collect the homework. Yeah.

00:50:43 - 00:50:54 | Speaker 3:

You know what's interesting about license plates? I get license plate envy. I know this is going to sound weird, but we have these new license plates in Michigan.

00:50:54 - 00:50:58 | Speaker 6:

The blue and yellow ones are so pretty. I don't want to pay for it.

00:50:58 - 00:51:01 | Speaker 3:

They look like how California's old license plates used to be.

00:51:01 - 00:51:13 | Speaker 6:

Well, they look like the old, old Michigan license plates. And they're so cool. I got to tell you, Ohio plates are the worst plates in the world. Yeah, they are. And every time I cross the state line and I see them, I'm like, your license plates are beautiful.

00:51:14 - 00:51:37 | Speaker 3:

Richard, what's happening? Shannon is, or I'm sorry, Megan is being a Richard to Mike here right now. What's going on? Hold on a second. Wait a second. That might be the greatest laugh ever in the history of life. What's going on, Richard?

00:51:38 - 00:51:54 | Speaker 1:

I had driven with my license plate peeling for years. And, you know, there'd be cops dropping behind me all the time. And then Secretary of State, I was redoing my plate or my tabs. And they're like, it's been 10 years. You have to redo it.

00:51:54 - 00:52:02 | Speaker 3:

Oh, so there's actually, there's really a time limit on it, too. They probably know that those license plates don't last long. Melissa, what's going on?

00:52:03 - 00:52:05 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Mojo, how are you guys?

00:52:05 - 00:52:07 | Speaker 3:

We're good. What's going on, Melissa? What'd you want to say?

00:52:08 - 00:52:14 | Speaker 4:

So our new stickers that we get, they have our license plate number on that little sticker.

00:52:14 - 00:52:25 | Speaker 6:

Okay, but who can read that from a distance? Nobody. Nobody can read that. I can't. Don't you dare call in and defend him with your lunatic responses.

00:52:26 - 00:52:27 | Speaker 3:

With your correct response.

00:52:27 - 00:52:28 | Speaker 6:

I love you, Mike.

00:52:28 - 00:52:42 | Speaker 3:

I love you. Very nice lady there calling up to defend you. Megan is wrong. Thanks, Mom. I appreciate it. Oh, we do have an officer on the phone with us. Officer Amanda. Hi, Amanda. Hi. Good morning.

00:52:42 - 00:52:42 | Unknown:

How are you?

00:52:43 - 00:52:50 | Speaker 3:

Good. Nice to have you on. You wanted to give us the answer on whether or not Mike is doing something highly illegal and, as Megan said, illicit.

00:52:51 - 00:53:01 | Speaker 5:

Oh, it is illicit. Well, actually, it's an unreadable plate, so it is illegal. Uh-oh. Definitely can get pulled over and get a ticket for it.

00:53:01 - 00:53:02 | Speaker 3:

Megan's right.

00:53:04 - 00:53:05 | Speaker 5:

She's right, yep.

00:53:05 - 00:53:10 | Speaker 3:

Is it actually a finable offense, or is it just go get it fixed type thing, like a warning?

00:53:11 - 00:53:22 | Speaker 5:

Yes, you can get a fine for it. Personally, I don't like to write people tickets for it. I usually will just pull somebody over and let them know, because there are a lot of people that seem to be unaware of a lot of the laws out there.

00:53:23 - 00:53:32 | Speaker 2:

So do I have to buy new stickers and everything, too, after I get a new plate? I have to buy all that stuff again? I think they'll transfer, won't they? Or they'll give you a new sticker?

00:53:32 - 00:53:36 | Speaker 5:

I think they'll be able to transfer, but that's more of a Secretary of State thing. But you will need to get a new plate.

00:53:37 - 00:53:42 | Speaker 3:

Is there any truth to the rumor that Jeep Wranglers are the ones you like to pull over the most?

00:53:43 - 00:53:48 | Speaker 5:

I rarely do. Yes, good answer. I was just trying to get you.

00:53:48 - 00:53:52 | Speaker 3:

Megan drives one, so if you're anywhere in this area here, you can come.

00:53:52 - 00:53:53 | Speaker 5:

Oh, keep and look out.

00:53:53 - 00:53:58 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Is there a specific car that you pull over more than others? That's a good question.

00:53:58 - 00:54:04 | Speaker 5:

No. Nope. It's just whatever ones happen to catch your eye as far as whatever they're doing.

00:54:04 - 00:54:25 | Speaker 3:

So you're actually a good cop. Yeah, I'm fair. I want to know, though, like the people that drive those fire red, like really expensive sports cars. you know the guys that you know take like boner pills don't you ever feel like the need just to pull them over to see what the guy looks like inside the car and see if like maybe he's wearing

00:54:25 - 00:54:40 | Speaker 5:

like skinny jeans i i can't say that that's something that i think about it's typically the ones that are running the engines for you're like yes oh thank you you're about to yes i was uh

00:54:40 - 00:56:18 | Speaker 3:

at the naughty mom's night out and thank you by the way officer amanda we appreciate it if we ever get pulled over by you. Is it okay if we name drop just to get out of a ticket? When we were at Naughty Mom's Night Out, I was noticing the valets in Birmingham, Michigan. Birmingham, Michigan. The cars that people drive and then the guys that get out of these. cars and the women that get out of these cars first off the guys are all like this thin i'm like looking at these guys how do these guys stay so thin and is that what it is and the and the women all look like they're like eight uh to ten years younger than all these guys and they're all driving these really nice cars and then here comes mike valain with the license plate falling off of It's Kia. It's not falling off. It's Kia Sonata. Sorrento. Sorrento. Pulls up there. Did you almost feel bad? Do you almost feel bad when you pull up in your valet parking in a place where it's like they think that you're the pizza guy delivering pizza to them? They're not expecting a tip if my license plate looks like that. You know what I mean? The expectations are set when you roll up with a license plate like that. No, the beauty is, have you ever done this? Have you ever valet parked your car And then somebody valet parked their car They hand their ticket to the valet And the valet pulls up in a really nice car And you just pretend that that's your car Like so everybody can see you walking towards it I've done that a couple times At Somerset Collection Like my Tahoe's way in the back And then all of a sudden somebody pulls up In like this gorgeous car Like there was some guy that had The other day where I was noticing this Did you guys see the Ferrari that was parked out there

00:56:18 - 00:56:19 | Speaker 2:

Do you know

00:56:19 - 00:56:24 | Speaker 3:

You know, Tony and I, our boss, Tony and I, looked it up online to see how much that car cost.

00:56:24 - 00:56:25 | Speaker 2:

No, you didn't.

00:56:25 - 00:56:26 | Speaker 3:

It was a half a million dollar car.

00:56:27 - 00:56:29 | Speaker 2:

Oh, my God. I have student loans.

00:56:29 - 00:56:35 | Speaker 3:

I said to Tony, I go, Tony, lean up against it and take a picture. Because I thought it would just be funny to see Tony lean up against this thing.

00:56:35 - 00:56:40 | Speaker 1:

You know whose car it probably was? Who? Was the guy who walked in with the sunglasses who bought all the mom's drinks.

00:56:41 - 00:56:42 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my gosh.

00:56:42 - 00:56:44 | Speaker 1:

Maybe. I don't know. He was kind of flashy.

00:56:44 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 3:

He definitely looked like he drove a nice car.

00:56:47 - 00:56:47 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:56:47 - 00:56:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. The people that have that. You have a car that costs that much money. I don't know. I wouldn't drive it. Never. Could you imagine pulling into like a Kroger to just go in and go grab a couple things and you come out and there's like this shit.

00:56:59 - 00:57:03 | Speaker 1:

And my kids open my car door and ding your Ferrari.

00:57:06 - 00:57:19 | Speaker 3:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Shannon is going to get us caught up on what's trending. The War of the Roses coming up here in a second. A wife thinking that her wife is cheating on her. We will find out what's going on next.

00:57:19 - 00:58:28 | Speaker 1:

As soon as I saw this story, I'm like, Mojo is going to be all over this tomorrow. Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady. So the story is that she's looking to buy a vacation home in his exclusive neighborhood in the Bahamas where he has this beautiful home. Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean Club is what it's called. It's an exclusive members only residential community in the Bahamas. And Kim apparently has been there several times, not to his home, but to this community. She's vacationed there. She flew to the Bahamas this weekend and was spotted touring the resort. And word on the street is that she's had several phone calls with Tom Brady to ask him about this hood before she went. So people are saying they are very, very friendly with each other. Now, I am being told we're going to shoot down the romance rumors right off the bat. There is nothing happening. They're just friends. She's been eyeing property there for quite some time. Obviously, he has the inn and knows all about it because he has a home there. And that's it. But still.

00:58:29 - 00:58:53 | Speaker 2:

That's not it. That is not it. That is not it. They are not dating. You guys, Bahamas are a tax haven. These people go there to hide their money. That's why they're talking to each other. Maybe he's helping her hide her money. I don't know. Tom Brady is in the middle of a huge lawsuit and is hiding a lot of his money in the Bahamas, okay? And so what do you think Kim Kardashian is calling him? Hey, Tommy boy, how did you hide all of that money? I'd like your tips, please.

00:58:53 - 00:58:56 | Speaker 3:

She was one of the ones in the lawsuit, too, right? Didn't she get-

00:58:56 - 00:59:02 | Speaker 1:

I think it might be a different lawsuit, but it's crypto for both, right? I don't think she was with-

00:59:02 - 00:59:15 | Speaker 3:

No, she was not maybe the FTX, but I think she was one of the others. Yeah, she was a different one, but similar. But we all know this. Kim Kardashian dates for the fame of things. Well, for the publicity.

00:59:15 - 00:59:16 | Speaker 2:

He's not famous enough for her.

00:59:16 - 00:59:19 | Speaker 3:

Tom Brady's not famous enough. Are you kidding me?

00:59:19 - 00:59:21 | Speaker 2:

Not for her. What? No, not for her.

00:59:21 - 00:59:23 | Speaker 3:

The greatest football player of all time?

00:59:23 - 00:59:48 | Speaker 2:

I don't think so. How do you get more famous than him? Because I think he, okay, this is going to sound bad, and I don't mean this. I'm saying for her. I think he's near the end of his career, and she doesn't want somebody. And I know he's got the Fox deal, and I know he's going to commentate, but I don't think that's the peak of his fame. Like it was when he was the greatest quarterback of all time. And I don't think that it's going to have the longevity for her. Like a Pete Davidson did.

00:59:48 - 01:00:00 | Speaker 1:

But for sure her people put it out there that she was talking on the phone to Tom Brady. Absolutely. Absolutely. Yeah. I do have another update on Jamie Foxx for you this morning. He has been moved to.

01:00:00 - 01:00:37 | Speaker 2:

a physical rehabilitation center in Chicago. His family is by his side. His daughters, as well as one of their moms, I know, were all in Chicago over the weekend to spend time with him during his recovery from that mysterious medical complication that took place while he was filming in Atlanta last month. Now, I looked up this facility and it says they specialize in stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury rehab, spinal cord injury rehab, and cancer rehab. So it's got to go in one of those buckets Whatever he's dealing with He arrived at the facility a couple of weeks ago And everybody says he's doing really well there So

01:00:37 - 01:00:49 | Speaker 5:

I think that it's got to be the stroke thing That we're talking about I think so too And I could be wrong on this one But I think when Dane Gilbert had his stroke Didn't he go to Chicago also to some hospital?

01:00:49 - 01:00:50 | Speaker 2:

I am not sure about that

01:00:50 - 01:01:04 | Speaker 5:

I don't know But I do know that this is one of those things Where it's like you have a stroke situation This place is supposedly like the most renowned place to go to. And I think it's attached, if I'm not mistaken, I could be wrong with this, with Northwestern. With Northwestern, yeah.

01:01:05 - 01:01:20 | Speaker 2:

Dang Martha Stewart, 81-year-old Martha, on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. And she looks great. Smoking. She saw it for the first time on the Today Show. This was her reaction.

01:01:20 - 01:01:34 | Speaker 1:

What do you think? I like that picture. I'm sort of shaking because, you know, it's odd to go to an island and then get changed into nine different bathing suits in one day in front of all those people, and it turned out okay.

01:01:34 - 01:01:37 | Speaker 2:

She said for her that cover is a testament to good living.

01:01:38 - 01:01:43 | Speaker 1:

Hi, this is Martha Stewart, and listening to Mojo in the morning is a very good thing.

01:01:43 - 01:01:44 | Speaker 2:

When was the last time you played that?

01:01:45 - 01:01:50 | Speaker 5:

It's been a while. I needed to dust that thing off like she dusted off that swimsuit that she was wearing.

01:01:50 - 01:02:05 | Speaker 2:

TMZ investigates Britney Spears the price of freedom that Britney documentary aired on Fox last night. And Mojo, you watched it and you said it was meh. Well, there's somebody in particular who is not happy about this, and that is Britney's husband, Sam.

01:02:05 - 01:02:26 | Speaker 6:

I found it absolutely disgusting for the people that were in her life at the time. When she didn't have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs. It was absolutely disgusting. she's free after all those gas lighting and after all those things that went down now you're going to put her on their microscope and tell her story

01:02:26 - 01:02:31 | Speaker 2:

he said please please please stop falling for these stupid clickbait stories

01:02:31 - 01:02:35 | Speaker 5:

hold on a second I gotta move or move this one

01:02:35 - 01:02:47 | Speaker 6:

and don't believe what you read online 99% of the time those are all clickbaits for you to click and for them to make money and that time is over I'm not going to allow that.

01:02:47 - 01:03:24 | Speaker 2:

By the way, he's saying that because the big story right now is that her marriage is about to end. And lastly, as Bud Light continues to face backlash over its controversial partnership with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney, another beer brand, Miller Light, is facing heat from its own critics. Miller Light recently launched a marketing campaign that railed against beer ads focused on quote-unquote bimbos in bikinis. Miller Lite's Women's History Month campaign, titled Bad Spit to Good Spit, you know what I'm talking about, dropped in March, and pledged to clean up the brand's past of sexist ads objectifying women.

01:03:24 - 01:03:40 | Speaker 4:

Look at this s***. Wild. It's time beer made it up to women. So today, Miller Lite is on a mission to clean up not just their s***, but the whole beer industry's s***. Miller Lite has been scouring the internet for all this s*** and buying it back so that he can turn it into good s*** for women brewers.

01:03:40 - 01:04:10 | Speaker 2:

So, it was announced at the same time that purchases, excuse me, of Miller Lite products were going to support this $60,000 donation to the Pink Boots Society, which aims to assist women in the alcoholic beverage industry advance their careers through education. So, this dropped a couple of weeks ago. Critics began sharing clips of that video that I just played the audio for you from on social media, which led to Miller Lite to trend. You may have noticed this yesterday. In fact, it was all over the place. For the life of me, is something wrong with me? Because I can't figure out what the controversy is here.

01:04:10 - 01:04:12 | Speaker 3:

Because people hate women now?

01:04:12 - 01:04:17 | Speaker 2:

Is that what this is? I really don't know. Somebody explain this to me. I'm doing this story because I'm seeing it everywhere.

01:04:17 - 01:04:20 | Speaker 5:

I think it's exactly what Sam Ashkari said. I think it's just a clickbait thing.

01:04:21 - 01:04:27 | Speaker 3:

No, but what's the drama? Because we need to objectify women and have naked people on posters holding beers.

01:04:27 - 01:04:31 | Speaker 2:

But they're saying they want to move away from that. Right.

01:04:31 - 01:04:40 | Speaker 3:

I don't know someone. Please explain to me. The fans of the beer are mad that they want to respect women. They don't really know what's going on anymore.

01:04:40 - 01:04:50 | Speaker 5:

I read the other day that they talked about state by state, like how much the sales of Bud Light have gone down. And Michigan had one of the highest negatives.

01:04:50 - 01:04:51 | Speaker 2:

It was like 26%.

01:04:51 - 01:04:55 | Speaker 5:

It was crazy to see how much the sales have gone down of Bud Light.

01:04:55 - 01:04:59 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. All right. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on the DirtyMorning.com.

01:05:00 - 01:05:20 | Speaker 1:

at Mojo in the Morning on social media. The latest craze. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. Catching cheaters and proud of it. Ow, I'm sorry. It's your home for War of the Roses on Mojo in the Morning. Renee thinks that her wife is cheating on her. Who is it that you think that your wife is cheating with?

01:05:20 - 01:05:36 | Speaker 4:

I think she might be having an affair with somebody she met in a photography group that she's in. And she got into photography and joined up with some other, you know, people who like taking pictures. And I just feel like there's this one in particular she just likes to spend time with.

01:05:36 - 01:05:41 | Speaker 1:

And you're not in this group you don't go with at all?

01:05:41 - 01:05:48 | Speaker 4:

No, I'm not really in that. That's not my kind of thing. So, I mean, I let her do her own thing. But she's just been acting weird.

01:05:48 - 01:05:51 | Speaker 1:

Have you met the group? Have you met most of the people?

01:05:52 - 01:06:00 | Speaker 4:

I think so. I mean, they come and go out of the group. I've definitely, the one that I'm suspicious of, I've met her before and she just acted weird around me.

01:06:01 - 01:06:08 | Speaker 1:

When she was acting weird around you, you thought that that was a sign that they're doing something more than just taking pictures together?

01:06:09 - 01:06:19 | Speaker 4:

It's a sign. I think that, you know, it doesn't prove anything, but you get that feeling. You just kind of get that feeling. And that's the thing. I don't know for sure. It's just kind of a feeling I have.

01:06:20 - 01:06:25 | Speaker 1:

All right. So we're going to be calling up your wife, and you say that she's out of town. What is she doing?

01:06:27 - 01:06:32 | Speaker 3:

She's on a retreat, a photography retreat, with some other people from her group.

01:06:32 - 01:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Including the person that you're suspicious of. Yeah.

01:06:36 - 01:06:40 | Speaker 1:

So we're just going to call her up and see where she's going to send a dozen free roses.

01:06:40 - 01:06:41 | Speaker 5:

Okay.

01:06:42 - 01:06:43 | Speaker 1:

Mute your phone.

01:06:50 - 01:07:17 | Speaker 2:

hello hi i'm looking for stephanie uh who is this hi i'm nicole and i'm calling from a new internet floral company called roses bloom.com to offer you some free flowers do you have like 30 seconds to answer two quick survey

01:07:17 - 01:07:27 | Speaker 5:

01:07:27 - 01:07:48 | Speaker 4:

is this i'm sorry is answering stephanie's phone hello yeah hello who is this who's answering my wife's phone. Your wife? My wife, Stephanie, this is her phone. Who are you? There's somebody on

01:07:48 - 01:07:56 | Speaker 5:

the phone for you. And she's like yelling at me. Bitch, this is her wife. Put her on the phone.

01:07:56 - 01:08:26 | Speaker 2:

Ma'am, could you be quiet for just one moment so I could talk? I am looking for Stephanie are you stephanie no and who who is this just who is this again my name's nicole i'm calling from a floral company i'm calling for stephanie but i'm so confused who am i speaking to right now hey babe someone's on the phone for

01:08:26 - 01:08:49 | Speaker 5:

you i want to talk to you and i feel like someone's also screaming at me i'm not sure if this is a joke or if they really need to talk to you hello hello is this stephanie yes who is this hi stephanie

01:08:49 - 01:09:00 | Speaker 2:

my name is nicole and i'm calling from a new online floral company called roses bloom.com with an offer for some free flowers for you stephanie who was answering your phone is that

01:09:00 - 01:09:06 | Speaker 4:

bitch that you were hanging out with that I asked you about that you know apparently you guys are

01:09:06 - 01:09:29 | Speaker 1:

together right now is that her Stephanie I think that what what Renee wanted to know was was something going on between you and one of your friends Renee I think that that's where we tell you to mute your phone and to not say anything

01:09:30 - 01:09:32 | Speaker 2:

Because we can get more information that way.

01:09:32 - 01:09:34 | Speaker 1:

So we're not going to get much out of this whole thing.

01:09:36 - 01:09:40 | Speaker 4:

I'm sorry. I mean, I do feel like I got my answer, though. But, okay.

01:09:40 - 01:09:42 | Speaker 2:

Do they normally room with each other?

01:09:44 - 01:09:54 | Speaker 4:

I don't know. Because that would make sense to me. No, she doesn't normally go, like, on away trips. But if she did, I wish she should tell me if she's rooming with someone that I'm suspicious of that I've asked her about before.

01:09:54 - 01:10:24 | Speaker 1:

But maybe but maybe it's them going away as a group and all the group being together. I mean, I don't know if anybody listening has any more knowledge about clubs and these clubs staying together and stuff like that, but I don't know if we're going to get anything, and we're trying to call back, and we're not getting anything out of dialing her back up again. She's bumping the call going right to voicemail.

01:10:25 - 01:10:29 | Speaker 5:

So I feel like that's just very telling, in my opinion. I don't know.

01:10:29 - 01:10:32 | Speaker 1:

Has she ever cheated on you before in the past?

01:10:32 - 01:10:38 | Speaker 5:

No. No, not that I know of. But, I mean, we've been together a long time. And I was just like, well, maybe she's bored with me. I don't know.

01:10:39 - 01:10:40 | Speaker 1:

How long have you guys been together?

01:10:41 - 01:10:43 | Speaker 5:

Six years. Okay.

01:10:43 - 01:10:45 | Speaker 1:

Wow. All right. Hang on one second, okay?

01:10:46 - 01:10:51 | Speaker 4:

Okay. Your home for the world-famous War of the Roses is Mojo in the Morning.

01:10:51 - 01:11:31 | Speaker 1:

when you meet the person that you're cheating with through your hobby i'd love to know if that's happened to any other people because that's what i was thinking as soon as i read her war of the roses submission if you think that your spouse is cheating you think your boyfriend girlfriend husband or wife is cheating on you text cheater to 95500 our phone number is 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 melissa hi what's up hi i feel like everyone has sort of skimmed over the

01:11:31 - 01:11:44 | Speaker 2:

fact that she called her babe yeah but to be fair i feel like call everybody i call everybody i call shannon babe i've called kp babe lady like that's just renee renee heard that though renee said

01:11:44 - 01:12:04 | Speaker 1:

something too she about her calling her babe so she she caught it okay yeah no no no no that's that's not to be skipped that's definitely not to be skipped over and i agree with the fact that there are people that will say babe but that babe was not a babe like you're my friend babe that was like no i really don't i think that was a that was like a i'm in a relationship with you babe

01:12:04 - 01:12:18 | Speaker 7:

oh for sure those are i feel like you say it differently and just i don't pick up my friend's phones without saying, like, Stephanie's something. Like, she completely, they're together. Yeah. Sorry.

01:12:19 - 01:12:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, no, I think that was pretty definite that there was going on. I mean, I think that, especially because of the way that she said it. But what's up, Holly?

01:12:30 - 01:12:30 | Unknown:

Hi.

01:12:31 - 01:12:32 | Speaker 1:

Hey, War of the Roses.

01:12:32 - 01:12:56 | Speaker 4:

So, if I was in this situation, I would definitely try to calm my wife down, but then try to separate myself if i knew my wife had a problem or some kind of suspicion of anything i would try to kind of separate and just not really group so that my wife wouldn't be suspicious or let her

01:12:56 - 01:13:36 | Speaker 1:

meet the group yeah well that in in any case when that suspicion comes up if there's no cheating involved you would do that right if there's cheating involved you don't do that and and you go away on a trip with them and you stay in the same place which i think that's the part that i wondered about i'm not you know i'm not part of any photography club but i i know that in the past i've gone on golf trips and when i've gone on golf trips we've never stayed in the same rooms we've actually stayed in separate rooms but i know that there are people that sometimes will uh do like softball trips like they'll go away for weekends and sometimes they'll airbnb i was

01:13:36 - 01:13:46 | Speaker 3:

to say a lot of my friends will do like yoga retreats or like wellness retreats and everybody they either stay in the same airbnb or people are sharing rooms like that's not abnormal

01:13:46 - 01:13:52 | Speaker 1:

that's a bad example though yoga retreats is meant for cheating but it's all women well yeah well

01:13:52 - 01:14:03 | Speaker 3:

you're yoga retreating it's all women but it could be yeah absolutely but it's that's just the norm i don't know i feel like this could go where they stay either way hey julie what's up

01:14:03 - 01:14:32 | Speaker 6:

hey i'm actually a part of a photography retreat as well i've been on multiple and what we do um in my group specifically is rent out airbnbs and then everybody just boards in rooms together it's so common and it's so just not i wouldn't expect someone to be cheating just because they're staying in the same room as four other girls as well you know so when that

01:14:32 - 01:14:38 | Speaker 1:

happens would you answer another person's phone if it was ringing um well since we're all pretty

01:14:38 - 01:14:51 | Speaker 6:

close if i saw like my friend's wife calling i would you know probably just pick up the phone and hand it to her i probably wouldn't have just answered it right but the number was coming from

01:14:51 - 01:15:25 | Speaker 1:

rosesbloom.com so it was just a it was the way that you know the way it shows up on on phones I believe it shows up as Rose. is or something like that but but here's a question for you on this these retreats where you guys are staying in the same rooms when you're retreating and you guys are going out and doing your thing no matter if it's in your case photography or whatever the the case might be if your significant other was uncomfortable with the people that you were going with or one particular would you get a room with them or would you stay as far away from them as possible

01:15:25 - 01:15:47 | Speaker 3:

um i feel like that'd be a discussion to have beforehand because if your significant other has a problem with this person and you're completely innocent then i feel like it's really not that big of a deal to still stay in the same room especially if there's other people in that room as well uh that's just a personal preference though so maybe just to

01:15:47 - 01:16:03 | Speaker 1:

have a discussion before but if i if i was going away and there was a situation where my wife was not comfortable with one particular person, I'm probably not staying in the same even house as them. Lisa wants to bring up something that I think is actually pretty important when it comes to this. What's that, Lisa?

01:16:05 - 01:16:23 | Speaker 4:

Well, she did call her babe. And the way she said babe, I agree that they're in a relationship. But when Renee said it's her wife, she said wife, like she was questioning it. And then she said, some woman's on the phone and wants to talk to you. and she's yelling at me.

01:16:24 - 01:16:27 | Speaker 1:

Instead of saying your wife, Renee, is on the phone, yeah.

01:16:27 - 01:16:28 | Speaker 2:

Wasn't she talking about me?

01:16:29 - 01:16:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, maybe she was, yeah.

01:16:33 - 01:16:34 | Speaker 2:

I don't know.

01:16:34 - 01:16:35 | Speaker 1:

She could have been, yeah.

01:16:35 - 01:16:41 | Speaker 4:

I don't know, because she said it's her wife, and she questioned wife. No, I agree with you on that.

01:16:41 - 01:16:49 | Speaker 2:

Right, the way she said your wife. But I think when she was referring to someone who was on the phone, she was talking about me. I could be very wrong. I'd have to go back and listen.

01:16:49 - 01:17:41 | Speaker 1:

But guys, Shannon, Megan, Mike, KP, Lydia, and everybody here, and you too, Lisa, the part that's weird is if I all of a sudden had a spouse yelling at me on the phone, I would kind of take it back a little bit and be like, whoa, whoa, whoa, I don't know what you're thinking right now. You're saying if you were not cheating. If I was, you know, if I was the person that answers the phone and the friend that's the, you know, the person that, you know, is on the photography summit or whatever the hell they're doing, I would be like, wait, wait a second. I don't know why you're yelling right now, but hold on a second. I'm going to put her on the phone. Everything's going to be okay. She'll understand it. It just was too weird how it happened. And then when Renee's wife hangs up the phone, the hang-ups are the most suspicious to me.

01:17:41 - 01:17:42 | Speaker 2:

The hang-ups are always telling.

01:17:42 - 01:17:43 | Speaker 1:

What's up, Cody?

01:17:45 - 01:17:59 | Speaker 5:

Good morning. Long, long-time listener. First-time caller. Yay. I've been listening since high school, which has been out over 10 years. I also listen every morning. I take my kids to school. They love it, too.

01:17:59 - 01:18:00 | Speaker 1:

Appreciate it.

01:18:00 - 01:18:35 | Speaker 5:

My comment was the same as Lisa's. not only the whole calling babe which i understand i'm in the medical field i call a lot of people babe and love but not only the way she said it but of course like i said questioning wife she said it's her wife and she questioned that now i don't know about anybody else but my husband refers to me as his wife for everything they barely refer to me as by my name so you know they know i'm his wife so to me it was kind of suspicious she was her wife but wouldn't it be

01:18:35 - 01:18:53 | Speaker 6:

fair to say that some same-sex couples aren't comfortable revealing that about them until they are confident with the so like how do we know if these two were close enough to even know that she was a lesbian so your wife could be a question like you're a lesbian that is a great she's

01:18:53 - 01:19:22 | Speaker 5:

answering her phone so obviously you know she's she's pretty comfortable with the lady she hangs out with her enough you know she if she's into this photography like you know renee said she is obviously this is a hobby so she's close to the people she's taking these classes with she answered her phone so she's comfortable enough to answer her phone for her so i'd say she's comfortable enough to know she's got a wife and she is a lesbian one of the things i've noticed

01:19:22 - 01:19:29 | Speaker 1:

with War of the Roses is that Megan will stick up for women who are cheating, but never stick up for men who are cheating. There's a clear theme.

01:19:29 - 01:19:46 | Speaker 6:

Well, I do think in this scenario, there are a lot of mystery factors that we're jumping to conclusions on. And usually with the guys, it's a little bit more clear cut. It's very clear cut. And yeah, why would I defend men? Period, move on.

01:19:46 - 01:19:56 | Speaker 1:

Just why. Melissa, last comment from you on War of the Roses. If you missed it, It's getting podcast right now. You'll get it up on our Mojo Money podcast, and you can go listen to it all over again. What's going on?

01:19:57 - 01:19:59 | Speaker 4:

I don't feel like if she is married.

01:20:00 - 01:20:11 | Speaker 3:

to another woman i don't think that she should be sharing a room with another woman especially if um i've been on on trips with women that are lesbians and they're and their wives do not allow

01:20:11 - 01:20:46 | Speaker 1:

okay good point good point she's she is in a room with another woman if i were to be sharing a room with a woman seeing that that is my preference this is her preference would you allow that huh i would not no i that i agree with you on that and i think sometimes it's a little sketchy we get we give too much too much credit to people that they're not going to touch private parts at one point or another right i mean you're not wrong if they knew each other

01:20:46 - 01:20:52 | Speaker 3:

um and they um and their friends and the wife knew about her but she does not i don't think

01:20:52 - 01:21:32 | Speaker 1:

that's right. All right. Thank you for the call. Take care of yourself. It's Mojo on the morning show. So Luke's prom is on Friday. I was talking with Luke yesterday a little bit about like wrapping up like what he has to wear for prom because I went out and got him, you know, his outfit. And then I realized the last minute he has no shoes. I'm like, I'm like, are you guys not the same size uh no i am a size 14 luke is a size 10 okay but yes but then i thought to myself you know what it's um if uh by the way you know what they say about guys with big feet okay i

01:21:32 - 01:21:43 | Speaker 6:

knew we were gonna get distracted as soon as i said that what do they say about guys with big feet they also have big hands they're so smart and intelligent i was just wondering what they

01:21:43 - 01:21:51 | Speaker 1:

say about guys with big feet um no so but then i thought to myself i'm like well you know what So, will he want to wear, like, Jordans or, like, you know, like, what will he wear?

01:21:51 - 01:21:53 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I love when, yeah.

01:21:53 - 01:22:38 | Speaker 1:

Yeah. But I think he wants to go, like, classic with what he's wearing for prom. So, I think he's going to wear, like, dress shoes. But got to figure that out. But I wanted to bring this up because I thought that this was really interesting. 17% of prom goers break up with their boyfriend or girlfriend just before prom. It's kind of a sad story here. So 17% break up. Of them, 72% still go together. Oh, really? Because they can't find a date. Has that ever happened to anybody? Did anybody ever break up with their prom date before prom?

01:22:38 - 01:22:44 | Speaker 2:

At the very end of prom, I didn't have a girlfriend or a date at the end of it.

01:22:44 - 01:22:47 | Speaker 5:

Oh, you went to the dance and broke up during the dance?

01:22:47 - 01:23:48 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. I didn't break up, but we were, okay. So there's a long history between us. We were the couple that were on and off all through high school. So we go out and go out to Boswick Lake Inn. We get dinner. I spill a drink over her entire dress. I also was in an era of highlights, So I always didn't make the best decisions at that moment And we run into her family And I keep making jokes Trying to lighten the mood About the drink that I just spilled in her lap Her family does not find it funny at all Because they spent all this money on this dress They are furious that I just spilled the drink over it And so I'm continuing to try to make jokes To make it funny To lighten the mood And we go through the dance And by the end of the dance We just broke up It was just because we just fought the whole time over it Because I'm just like It's not that big of a deal You can't even tell But every time we'd go to take a picture I'd make another joke about it Because I'm, again, trying to lighten the mood And she's upset about the dress Her parents are upset about the dress This just sounds like a very Mike situation to me

01:23:48 - 01:23:54 | Speaker 1:

Did you see the picture, by the way, of Mike? He cut out the date that he spilled I would love to see what dress she was wearing

01:23:54 - 01:23:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, Mike, those highlights

01:23:55 - 01:24:04 | Speaker 1:

But Mike with the highlights You gotta go see that I put it in the group chat That's worth definitely showing off to the listeners That's funny

01:24:04 - 01:24:34 | Speaker 5:

Now that you say that, I did, I dated the same guy from the time I was a freshman in high school until the summer before my senior year of college. But we were kind of off and on at one point and we broke up before, because he came back for my junior prom and he was older than me. Poor guy, just sat there. Did not have any fun whatsoever. And it wasn't that much fun for me either because, you know, he wasn't friends with any of my friends. And right before senior prom, I think we broke up again and I ended up going with like a guy friend of mine. Yeah. And it was super fun.

01:24:34 - 01:24:41 | Speaker 6:

I, like Mike, broke up with my date at the prom, but then I didn't have a ride home from the prom. Oh, no. Did you have to call your dad?

01:24:41 - 01:24:42 | Unknown:

Yes.

01:24:43 - 01:24:50 | Speaker 6:

And my dad, because it's prom night, and you get a call from your kid, he was like, what's wrong? And I was like, I need to get picked up. I have no way to get home.

01:24:51 - 01:24:59 | Speaker 1:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. I would love to hear your prom horror story, if it even was not the breaking.

01:25:00 - 01:25:11 | Speaker 3:

up before prom or anything like that, but I'd love to know exactly what happened that caused for you guys to have some issues.

01:25:11 - 01:25:26 | Speaker 1:

There was somebody at our prom who had a peanut allergy, and they didn't disclose that there was peanuts or something in the dressing of something that we ate, and so an ambulance showed up to take her to the hospital prom night. That was a bad one.

01:25:26 - 01:25:52 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's awful. Hold on a second here. I'm going to see if Luke answers. Luke's been out of school now for, like, weeks. I don't know why this school does this. They, like, end school, like, two weeks ago, and then they do prom and graduation. Do you know how crazy it has been for me to try to keep him from getting arrested? I've been, like, so worried. Hello, Luke. Oh, I woke you up. Imagine that.

01:25:52 - 01:25:53 | Speaker 1:

It's only 8 o'clock.

01:25:53 - 01:25:57 | Speaker 3:

Imagine that. You're actually off from school, and you're sleeping?

01:25:58 - 01:25:58 | Unknown:

Yeah.

01:25:59 - 01:26:18 | Speaker 3:

How you doing? Can I ask you a couple quick questions while you're sleeping? Yes. Luke, do you guys have transportation for your prom? Because I was just thinking about that. I know we didn't get the shoes, but are you guys needing a ride to prom?

01:26:19 - 01:26:21 | Speaker 4:

No, we have transportation.

01:26:22 - 01:26:33 | Speaker 3:

What is it? Are you guys driving yourselves, or did you guys rent a bus or something? It's like a bus. Okay, because I was going to offer, if you guys wanted, I would drive you in my Tahoe.

01:26:35 - 01:26:36 | Speaker 4:

Okay.

01:26:38 - 01:26:41 | Speaker 3:

You don't want that at all? No.

01:26:42 - 01:26:44 | Speaker 1:

Come on. Where's the after party?

01:26:47 - 01:26:47 | Speaker 3:

What?

01:26:48 - 01:26:49 | Speaker 1:

Is there an after party?

01:26:49 - 01:27:02 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, there is. Don't tell her, because she'll call the police and have them sent there. Do we need anything else besides shoes? Because I'm getting more worried about this, because you're not sharing with me what you need for this prom, and I want to make sure that you're taken care of.

01:27:04 - 01:27:05 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I need shoes, that's it.

01:27:05 - 01:27:08 | Speaker 3:

All right, are you going to get them today, or do I have to go with you?

01:27:10 - 01:27:11 | Speaker 4:

You have to go with me.

01:27:11 - 01:27:18 | Speaker 3:

Ah. All right. I'll call you after I get done, and then we'll meet up at the mall.

01:27:21 - 01:27:22 | Speaker 4:

What time do you get done at?

01:27:23 - 01:27:43 | Speaker 3:

I get done. See, this is usually what happens. I get done I have an interview That I'm doing with one of the local TV stations Today at 1 o'clock And after that interview I will be done probably like 2 or 2.30 I have golf practice at 3 Can we go tonight after golf practice?

01:27:43 - 01:27:44 | Speaker 4:

Yeah

01:27:44 - 01:27:46 | Speaker 3:

And then we'll go to the food court afterwards

01:27:46 - 01:27:48 | Speaker 4:

Alright, thank you

01:27:48 - 01:27:51 | Speaker 3:

I love how he's already

01:27:51 - 01:27:55 | Speaker 2:

Decided at 8 in the morning That he's not going to want to have dinner with dad

01:27:55 - 01:28:05 | Speaker 3:

Do you not like to hang out with me anymore? No. No? Like, no, you don't like to hang out with me anymore? Or no, you do like to hang out with me?

01:28:06 - 01:28:08 | Speaker 4:

No. Do you like waking me up in the normal?

01:28:10 - 01:28:28 | Speaker 3:

You know, did you hear that we're going to broadcast live from Michigan State for the first weekend of the year? Did you hear I got that approved? Are you that serious? No, I'm just kidding. All right, I'll let you go back to bed. I love you. I love you, too. All right, we'll talk to you later.

01:28:28 - 01:28:29 | Unknown:

Bye.

01:28:30 - 01:28:48 | Speaker 3:

He still has not introduced us to his date, so we have no idea who his date is. It's not the same girl from last year? No, not the same girl. Somebody different. Yes. Alyssa, what's happening?

01:28:49 - 01:28:55 | Speaker 4:

Good morning. I am still recovering from Naughty Mom's Night Out. Thank you all very much. Oh, I love it. Hi, Alyssa. Hey.

01:28:55 - 01:29:00 | Speaker 3:

How are you doing? What's happening? So you have a prom horror story?

01:29:01 - 01:29:35 | Speaker 4:

Oh, yeah. So I bought my shoes. I spent like $200 on a dress. It was stunning. And it's the day of buying prom tickets. And he broke up with me after a rough weekend in the woods doing some illegals. And he was like, oh, but we can still go together. Like, it would be totally cool. I laughed at him. And as I walked, I was like panic mode. It was seventh hour. And a kid I didn't have known since seventh grade, he's like, i heard what happened i don't even want to go with who i asked do you want to come with me and we had the best time it was it turned out great but i'm like freaking out man two dollar

01:29:35 - 01:29:40 | Speaker 3:

dress you know what yeah that's so awesome though that you've ended up going with somebody probably

01:29:40 - 01:29:49 | Speaker 4:

even better right oh yeah and then actually a few years later um i was at at a bar and all of a sudden someone comes around with a shot and he goes do you want to go to prom with me and i turned

01:29:49 - 01:29:54 | Speaker 3:

around and it was my friend it was so funny oh that's cool hi tony what's going on

01:29:54 - 01:29:59 | Speaker 4:

Well, I had two dates cancel on me for prom, not just one.

01:30:00 - 01:30:07 | Speaker 3:

two oh how like how much time before prom was this happening well the first cancellation was

01:30:07 - 01:30:24 | Speaker 5:

two weeks before prom he already got tickets everything was good to go but he didn't like the way that i said yes to going with him even though he asked me over instant messenger i don't know how you can say yes better with an im but it's fine okay how did you say yes so then I'm sorry?

01:30:24 - 01:30:28 | Speaker 2:

She instant messaged her. Yes, right?

01:30:29 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 5:

Yes, over, what was it, AOL messenger?

01:30:32 - 01:30:32 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:30:33 - 01:30:34 | Speaker 5:

I believe it was.

01:30:34 - 01:30:35 | Speaker 2:

Boy, that brings back memories.

01:30:36 - 01:30:37 | Speaker 5:

I can hear the doo-doo, doo-doo.

01:30:38 - 01:30:39 | Speaker 3:

And the doors.

01:30:40 - 01:31:18 | Speaker 5:

So that was the first one. So then a friend of mine had introduced me to somebody else, and I had asked him if he wanted to go. I mean, I had two weeks to find somebody, and everything was good to go. and the day of prom he was not responding back to me was not talking there was nothing and i had already bought the tickets and i'm like oh my god this is not happening so he never showed up so within a matter of an hour my sister and i i'm already ready my dress is on hair done everything's good and my sister actually ended up getting a hold of my ex-boyfriend within that last hour like hey do you have a tux and he's like yeah he went to a different school so he ended up coming

01:31:18 - 01:31:54 | Speaker 2:

with me it's last minute but it was insane that was actually my situation was in my mom uh uh had like friends that were friends of the family growing up and the situation was my mom's old time friends that she you know knew one of the daughters needed a prom date and so my dad's like this is one of mom's greatest friends this would be a great tribute to your mom and that was the only time that i had ever gotten a chance to uh to do it to go to a uh a dance what's going on holly yes this is even funnier holly what did what happened to your prom date

01:31:54 - 01:32:30 | Speaker 6:

so a little bit of backstory before i dropped the bomb um for my prom he took me to a cemetery because i don't know i was in the hanging out at cemeteries at the time and he opened his trunk And he had, like, literally a huge cooler filled with every kind of liquor and alcohol you could possibly imagine in there. And we hung out and we drank in the cemetery for a while. And a few years later, he became a Catholic priest.

01:32:32 - 01:32:33 | Speaker 1:

That's fantastic.

01:32:35 - 01:32:50 | Speaker 2:

That's the greatest. He took you to the cemetery to go get drunk. Did you guys fool around? Yes, you did. By the way, you might have been his last woman. You might have been the last. How does that make you feel?

01:32:51 - 01:32:53 | Speaker 6:

I know for a fact I was.

01:32:54 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 2:

I think I was the one and only. So here's the deal. I'm going to ask you guys this question, and then you stay on the phone with us. Who's got it worse? Holly's prom date became a priest after she fooled around with him.

01:33:06 - 01:33:06 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

01:33:06 - 01:33:09 | Speaker 2:

Brittany, what happened to your prom date?

01:33:10 - 01:33:30 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my gosh. So, like, a couple weeks before prom, like, you know, you have to buy the tickets, like, a couple weeks ahead. And so my boyfriend was, like, a year older than me. So I was going to buy the tickets, and, like, just a day before that, he got pulled over and arrested, and he had to go to jail.

01:33:31 - 01:33:31 | Speaker 1:

Okay.

01:33:31 - 01:33:49 | Speaker 7:

So then I had to come up with this crazy story for my parents as to, like, why he went to jail and why he couldn't go to prom with me. Of course, I, like, tended on my kids' friends. I was like, oh, his friends have stuff in the car. And, like, he was just kind of, like, guilty by association.

01:33:49 - 01:33:51 | Speaker 2:

Why did he really have to go to jail?

01:33:52 - 01:33:55 | Speaker 7:

So he actually was, like, he was selling weed.

01:33:56 - 01:34:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, back in the day. All right, so which one's worse? Who would you rather be in this case? Would you rather be Holly, who turned a guy towards the Lord, or Brittany, who was dating the convict? Which one would you rather be in this case?

01:34:11 - 01:34:23 | Speaker 3:

Well, I think going to jail before prom is worse because that's like right in the moment, you're panicked, you have to come up with a lie for your parents, and you don't got a date.

01:34:23 - 01:34:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, but the priest one is like, he's achieved the best he can ever achieve, so now it's a vow of chastity to Christ. But think about her.

01:34:31 - 01:34:33 | Speaker 3:

Think about her. She's the only one.

01:34:33 - 01:34:39 | Speaker 2:

Wouldn't you love to know that the guy that you were with took a vow of chastity after he was with you?

01:34:39 - 01:34:42 | Speaker 4:

And it was like you were the last thing he knew. Seriously.

01:34:42 - 01:34:59 | Speaker 6:

He also later baptized me and my son. Oh, my God. Oh, wow. That's the winner. That's beautiful. And the head priest actually told the entire Easter RCIA congregation.

01:35:00 - 01:35:12 | Speaker 3:

a little bit about our story and that he's like now she's an adult getting baptized and he's our Catholic. Oh my. Now, do you consider that your second baptism with him?

01:35:18 - 01:35:41 | Speaker 1:

Oh my God. That's great. What a great memory there. All right. It is Mojo in the morning show. So Megan had something happen to her yesterday that when she was describing it to us, I thought, holy crap, that's kind of scary to think. But then when she fully described it, I thought to myself, I'm like, oh, my God, I've been in that position before. She got stuck. And where did you get stuck?

01:35:41 - 01:36:07 | Speaker 3:

I got stuck in the car wash, but not even in the car wash, in the line to get a car wash. And it was all one of those. OK, I don't know if it's like this in Grand Rapids or in Detroit, but in Toledo, it feels like every five and a half seconds, a new luxury car wash is opening up. It is wild I don't know what kind of business margins they got over there But I should have invested early Because I would be a rich, rich woman With how quickly these are popping up everywhere

01:36:07 - 01:36:12 | Speaker 1:

Well, look at you You got stuck in a car wash Because why? Was the line like hugely?

01:36:12 - 01:36:52 | Speaker 3:

No, I got stuck in a car wash Because I essentially am an idiot Which is not shocking to anybody But I had pulled up to the machine Because it was a machine that you had to put your credit card in Pick your car wash and then go in And there's a giant line So I'm waiting and the line starts to clear through And it's not working And I hit the button on the screen And it's not working Now I don't know if you know this But apparently for retired men The place to be at 2 o'clock on a Monday Is the car wash When I tell you There was a line of old people behind me Who are not in the mood for me to be stuck There was a line of old people Who were very mad at me Which I also think it was very rude We all knew that I was having issues And nobody offered to buy my car wash

01:36:52 - 01:36:56 | Speaker 1:

Of course it was all men too All men Yeah exactly

01:36:56 - 01:36:59 | Speaker 3:

It was It was all like 80 year old men

01:36:59 - 01:37:02 | Speaker 1:

Did you get out of the car to go look To make sure

01:37:02 - 01:37:13 | Speaker 3:

No because they were all giving me dirty looks Like I looked in my rear view mirror To count the cars behind me And it was a whole bunch of guys Knocking on death's door Going come on lady Get out of our way

01:37:13 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 1:

That does drive me crazy by the way When you do go somewhere And a person can't figure out How to actually work something That you know you could figure out

01:37:23 - 01:37:23 | Speaker 3:

Right

01:37:23 - 01:37:26 | Speaker 1:

And then it just causes for a huge backup in line

01:37:26 - 01:38:19 | Speaker 3:

So the whole line in front of me into the car wash has cleared. I'm still stuck behind the barrier. Oh, my anxiety would be up to here. I'm sweating. I'm like screaming on the inside. I don't know what's going on. Nobody's helping me. Nothing's working. It doesn't take cash. Like literally panic mode is setting in. And an employee had to come out. I was like, hey, ma'am, what seems to be the issue? I'm like, isn't that working? And he was like, yeah, you got to flip your card the other way. I was inserting my cart in the wrong way to the machine, and everybody was so mad at me. But I say all this. No, you are so dumb. I know. You are really dumb. I know. For real. I know. I say all this because I think single lane drive-thrus, no matter what the business, whether it's car wash or Starbucks or drive-thru, whatever, should be illegal. Yeah. Because the fact that you get stuck places sometimes is so scary.

01:38:19 - 01:38:35 | Speaker 1:

My least favorite thing to do is to go to a Tim Hortons or a Starbucks, thinking that you have time enough to go get something, only to be stuck behind like four cars that are taking forever to get through.

01:38:35 - 01:38:39 | Speaker 2:

And you can't get out because there's curbs and nice little bushes on both sides of you.

01:38:39 - 01:39:14 | Speaker 1:

When I had the Jeep Wrangler, I actually would drive over curbs. I didn't care. I would, like, if I could, I'd drive over the cars to get to the front of the line. But I really didn't care. But now that I don't have a car that actually can get over the curves, I actually will stay back there and just sit there and I get sweaty, you know, the whole time thinking about it. Yeah. Car washes, though, you're right about car washes. And I cannot figure out exactly what is the story with car washes. My favorite, a texter just texted and says, Megan, the reason why car washes are so popular, if you ever watched Breaking Bad, they're a place for drug laundering. Money laundering.

01:39:14 - 01:39:16 | Speaker 2:

It is. Because it's a big money laundering thing.

01:39:17 - 01:39:19 | Speaker 1:

Well, not all of them, but breaking bad.

01:39:20 - 01:39:41 | Speaker 2:

Not all of them in breaking bad. The other bad thing about car washes, has this ever happened to you where, I don't know why, I have had a lot of experience doing this, but it still screws me up getting your tires onto that thing. And if you get onto it wrong, they make you back up. But everybody behind you has to back up. So you can back up and reconfigure your direction to get onto the thing.

01:39:41 - 01:39:45 | Speaker 1:

And they're all just a bunch of, according to Megan, angry old white men.

01:39:45 - 01:39:49 | Speaker 3:

At 2 o'clock on a Monday on Heather Downs Yes

01:39:49 - 01:39:55 | Speaker 1:

Oh look who's on well Mojo on the morning misfit Topless Tara I remember her from the car wash

01:39:55 - 01:39:56 | Speaker 3:

Hey Tara

01:39:56 - 01:39:58 | Speaker 1:

How are you Tara

01:40:00 - 01:40:02 | Speaker 6:

Hi, you guys. How you doing, Tara?

01:40:03 - 01:40:06 | Speaker 3:

I'm doing great. How are you guys doing?

01:40:06 - 01:40:18 | Speaker 6:

Good. Speaking of getting stuck in a car wash, you got stuck in a car wash and made yourself comfortable. That video went viral. It's now all over the place. I actually heard from a friend the other day that said that they posted it on their social media.

01:40:19 - 01:40:20 | Speaker 3:

No way.

01:40:21 - 01:40:25 | Speaker 6:

They loved it. They loved seeing you going through the car wash with your windows down.

01:40:26 - 01:40:29 | Speaker 3:

Oh, my goodness. I wish I had my boobies out.

01:40:30 - 01:40:43 | Speaker 6:

No, no, no. You didn't need to. Those boobies are covered and they're out. Yes. Have you ever had that happen to you, Tara, where you get into a drive-thru line and you realize how slow it's going to be and you just want to get the hell out of there?

01:40:45 - 01:40:49 | Speaker 3:

Yes. And I've literally tried to back out. It's too much.

01:40:49 - 01:40:53 | Speaker 6:

Have you ever done that where you, like, tried to get people to back up so they could let you out?

01:40:54 - 01:41:04 | Speaker 3:

Yes, and the lady cussed me all the way out. Didn't you know that it was going to be a lie? You're impatient. I said, what is wrong with you? Did you eat your Wheaties this morning?

01:41:05 - 01:41:15 | Speaker 6:

I always sit there and think to myself, am I just really impatient or are other people feeling the same way? And then I look at the frustration on people through my rearview mirror. Yeah.

01:41:15 - 01:41:17 | Speaker 3:

How do you mean the good morning?

01:41:18 - 01:41:21 | Speaker 6:

Well, it's good to talk to you. Good to see you. We got to see you again soon, okay?

01:41:22 - 01:41:24 | Speaker 3:

Okay, no problem.

01:41:24 - 01:41:26 | Speaker 6:

I love you. What's up, Megan?

01:41:27 - 01:41:52 | Speaker 5:

Hi, guys. Good morning. Good morning. What's happening? So, funny story, just the other day, with my fiance, we went to the grocery store. On our way home, there's tons of construction, and we realized there was a lane closure, so we couldn't turn where we needed. So, my fiance's like, oh, just turn around in the car wash. And he goes, like, all the way to the back of their lot to turn around and then realizes he can't do that. So, we were forced to get a car wash to get out of there.

01:41:55 - 01:42:11 | Speaker 6:

It's like one way in and one way out. You got to go through, right? yeah uh what's up aj it's mojo in the morning hey how are you we're doing all right megan got stuck in the car wash yesterday and she couldn't figure out how to get out until she realized she

01:42:11 - 01:42:51 | Speaker 1:

was putting her credit card in wrong oh gotcha yeah so something happened to me like that except i was already inside the car wash oh it stopped on you yep so you know that that machine that like is pulling uh your tires yes it sort of just stopped working and i was about three quarters of the way in now the good news is that for me like my car was pretty much clean and i was getting ready to that drying phase um so i could see you know that there's issues going on but the couple cars behind me that all their windows are like you know being washed like the machine still there so they don't know what's going on it was like for eight minutes wow i that

01:42:51 - 01:43:18 | Speaker 6:

is scary thought to be stuck inside of the thing you know especially the ones that don't have an attendant because that happened to me at that speedway right next door here yeah where all it does is just shoot water out at you but it shoots it like a million miles an hour and you're stuck in there and there's nobody there and there's nobody to call you know you gotta try to hope that somebody at the speedway station notices that there's the same car in the thing for a while What's up, Jordan? Hi. What's going on?

01:43:19 - 01:43:43 | Speaker 4:

So, mine's not a car wash, but I was at a self-pay for my university that I was at, and I was trying to leave, and, of course, I had about 10 cars behind me, and I forgot my credit card, and they don't pay cash, and it's a robot. And I had to make the whole line of cars back up through this single tiny little line. Everybody was so mad. I was so embarrassed.

01:43:43 - 01:43:47 | Speaker 1:

That's the worst. You could do what my friend Ashley just did and drive through the gate.

01:43:48 - 01:43:58 | Speaker 4:

No, it's like a big barricade. There is no way of getting around it. Oh, there is. In a minivan. University didn't come to her over a half hour. It was really embarrassing.

01:43:59 - 01:44:11 | Speaker 6:

It's amazing because I still wish that they had security video of that going through. Of Ash? You know how the cop shows where the person drives through those? They kind of like race around. What's up, Sam?

01:44:12 - 01:45:00 | Speaker 2:

Hi. So, my husband was very sweet and decided to get me, like, a membership for a new car wash that popped up right down the street from us. And, like, every time we go, it's been not working or it's just randomly working. So, I go one day. In the middle of the day, I'm like, it'll be working. Sitting in line, and I'm in line for at least five minutes, and no one's going through, and no one is even telling us what's going on. So, I see people. There's, like, three lanes. I see people start backing out. I'm going, all right, I've got to go back to work. I'm just going to back out. But at this point, I'm, like, angry because we spent all this money on a membership, and I can't ever get the car washed because it's always down. So the car behind me gives me room, and I back out, but I was very mad at this point, and I, like, gunned it, and I slammed in.

01:45:00 - 01:45:12 | Speaker 3:

to the post that surrounds the dumpster, hit my hatch, so my hatch is bent. I busted my life. I told my husband, and I'm like, that was not a very good plan.

01:45:12 - 01:45:32 | Speaker 1:

Here you are trying to make your car look better, and you end up damaging the thing. Oh, my God. That's the worst. By the way, my favorite calls of all this, Bianca and Erica are on with us this morning. They're driving vehicles that they broke down in the drive-thru. Bianca, what happened to you?

01:45:34 - 01:45:39 | Speaker 3:

So, I was in the checkers line. You know, some places is rallies. Yeah, checkers.

01:45:39 - 01:45:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

01:45:40 - 01:46:11 | Speaker 3:

And my battery died. Oh, no. But the worst part was, in the midst of all of this, me and my boyfriend were arguing, and I had to call my ex to come give us a joke. No, no, no, no, no. That's when you leave the car behind, walk away, and call a loss. And no, because he called somebody first, and they came with no jumper cables. So at that point, I had to call my ex. So it was just like a real strange situation. I just said it was like my best friend.

01:46:11 - 01:46:13 | Speaker 1:

Are you still with your boyfriend now?

01:46:15 - 01:46:21 | Speaker 3:

No, actually, no. Are you with the ex? No. Well, we are still best friends, though.

01:46:21 - 01:46:26 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God. So that was in the checkers line. Erica, what happened to you at McDonald's?

01:46:27 - 01:46:49 | Speaker 2:

So I used to drive this old Aztec, and the gas gauge was broken, so I could never tell how much gas I had in the car, and I had to go by how many gallons I used and how many I put in the last time I got gas. Well, I did not keep track of it very well, and I ran out of gas in the drive-thru at McDonald's.

01:46:49 - 01:46:50 | Speaker 1:

Were people hating on you?

01:46:51 - 01:46:59 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. I had to have one of the drive-thru guys had to come out and push my car out of the way.

01:47:00 - 01:47:05 | Speaker 1:

Is it the same guy that brings you your hot fries when you're parked in a parking spot?

01:47:05 - 01:47:09 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, probably. Oh, that's great.

01:47:09 - 01:47:11 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my God, that's the worst.

01:47:12 - 01:47:15 | Speaker 2:

Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:47:15 - 01:47:24 | Speaker 1:

We have your chance to go and see Taylor Swift in about an hour from now. Right now, what's trending this hour in the 8.30 Dirty?

01:47:24 - 01:49:22 | Speaker 4:

So that Britney Spears documentary aired on Fox last night, and probably the biggest thing that people are talking about from it is the fact that she hasn't seen her two boys in well over a year. TMZ investigates Britney Spears' The Price of Freedom, that's what it was called, said by the end of this past summer, tensions got so bad that Sean Preston and Jaden weren't even responding to their mom's texts. The last time she saw the boys was the very beginning of 2022, even before she got married to Sam. And remember, they did not end up going to her wedding. So it's been a rocky relationship for quite some time between mom and sons. And I know that the boys coming forward, Jaden specifically to criticize her parenting skills, weren't really helping things. Kevin Federline, her ex-husband, coming out to say, you know, her showing off her naked body and doing all of these crazy dances. That wasn't really helping things. Just lots of public commentary that really led, you know, to what was a crack becoming the Grand Canyon. And now things are really, really bad and they're not on speaking terms. Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne announcing their plans to host a brand new game show together. The show is going to be called We Are Family. It's being developed over at Fox. It's going to feature celebrities, non-famous relatives doing duets with their famous family members who are hidden. That new show going to air sometime next year. And the other Jamie Foxx dirty this morning. He has been moved to a physical rehab center in Chicago. His daughters are by his side. He is doing much, much better. I do know the facility specializes in stroke recovery and traumatic brain injuries. So everybody's thinking it's probably a stroke was that medical complication that he suffered several weeks ago.

01:49:23 - 01:49:26 | Speaker 1:

Depending on how bad it is, will he be able to host that show?

01:49:27 - 01:50:43 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, it's interesting to me the timing because they announced the show just a few days after he was moved from the hospital to this rehabilitation center. So, I mean, there's definitely a lot of hope there and hopefully he is doing, you know, as good as the family says he's doing. And he was filming a movie. Yeah. But he hasn't finished. Yeah, I know. Is that the movie with Cameron Diaz? It is. Yeah. The Weeknd has changed all of his names on his social media accounts to his real name, Abel Tesfaye. That move coming just a few days after he didn't. interview where he said he was getting ready to close the weekend chapter of his career i think he said he was ready to kill the weekend he wanted to shed that skin and be reborn um he did mention though that he he wants to do one more album under the weekend or as the weekend before moving on so i don't know if that's done and when that's dropping but on social media he is able at this point and real quick reba mcintyre gonna be the one to replace blake shelton on the upcoming 24th season of the voice really she played the role of mega mentor for season 23 she was also one of team blake's coaches in the very first season of the voice uh the voice excuse me way back in 2011

01:50:43 - 01:50:56 | Speaker 3:

i think people really liked her i love her people loved her i love her and i feel like she's a great fit for that show. And I like that show way better than, like, any other reality competition show right now. Yeah, so it's gonna be

01:50:56 - 01:51:11 | Speaker 4:

Reba, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Niall Horan for season 24. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty Fates on NotedInTheMorning.com. Celebrity Dirt, directly from the source. It's Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

01:51:14 - 01:51:49 | Speaker 1:

Mojo in the Morning. I always try to find what could be the most relaxing massage or the creepiest music for me to talk over whenever we have our next guest in. And I do it in a way to bring production value to the show. And every time I do it, she gives me a look like, why do you need that? You don't need that with me. I've been on your show numerous times where you just talked like this and said, hey, Rebecca Rosen is here. But I feel like for some reason, Rebecca do you ever get massages

01:51:49 - 01:51:51 | Speaker 2:

All the time

01:51:51 - 01:51:54 | Speaker 1:

Do you like music when a massage is going on

01:51:54 - 01:51:58 | Speaker 2:

I actually do It helps me stop thinking Yeah

01:51:58 - 01:52:15 | Speaker 1:

See it's funny I don't like music like this No Mike I like to listen to like Give me like a slow song Or something If you play like an old Mariah Carey ballad Or Air Supply or something I'm like relaxed

01:52:15 - 01:52:17 | Speaker 4:

Then I'm singing along in my head. Really?

01:52:17 - 01:53:45 | Speaker 1:

I don't want the words. I just want the zen feel. I need it. Rebecca Rosen is in with us this morning. I want to get right to it because she's got a bunch of people to go visit today. She's going to be making an appearance tonight. Tomorrow night, 7 until 9 o'clock at the Berman Center for Performing Arts in West Bloomfield, Michigan. You can get tickets by going to RebeccaRosen.com. Click on events. And there are tickets available right now. I've been numerous times, and I'm going to tell you this. She's more amazing in person than she is even on the radio. Because when you go to this, you have no idea all of a sudden, next thing you know, you're sitting in a theater next to somebody, and that person completely leaves because your mom or dad who has passed has suddenly come and sat there right next to you. So it's really wild. And congratulations on this new book. it's called what's your heaven the seven lessons to heal the past and live fully now and i was talking to uh your trusted friend here carolyn who told me because i can't read that this is your best book yet she said to she i actually talked to you didn't i talk to you right after you read it you did literally i called her up and she was like right she just finished like the last page and said to me um she goes i'm not kidding you when i say this to you it actually it moved me to to listen uh or to to read what you were writing so did you write this during covid i did

01:53:45 - 01:54:50 | Speaker 2:

you know this book is the biggest because it's the most universal it's not just about talking to dead people um but it is all about we're all struggling you know during the pandemic what i noticed is everyone is at this pivotal point in their life where they're over the bs like they want to understand why do i keep struggling why isn't this happening for me or why is this happening and it the book is really like taking a step back and recognizing we're in earth school we all have lessons we signed up to learn and so if you recognize you chose these lessons it takes you out of victim and it puts you into a more empowered place so that you can then rewrite the narrative wow and you can change your life and so it's very empowering and these are the seven fundamental lessons that spirits always come through and i think one of the big ones is is that you're not alone you have a team of spirits surrounding you that are available to help make life easier you know and less and to provide you know to get you out of the pain and

01:54:50 - 01:54:59 | Speaker 1:

the struggle one of my problems i always feel like and the reason why i've been going to therapy my whole life is things that were left unsaid or unsettled yes and i

01:55:00 - 01:55:19 | Speaker 3:

go to you know a therapist every single week and i feel like i talk more about my mom who passed my dad who passed you know uh grandfathers and stuff and i feel like honestly that uh the you're right this has been the craziest last couple few years and there are more people looking for therapy

01:55:19 - 01:55:48 | Speaker 1:

there are more people in therapy and so and that is so good and now if you're listening to this right now spirit brought you to this there's a reason and so if you do nothing else just start talking to your loved ones who passed away talk to your guides ask them to bring you comfort give you signs that they're there deepens your faith and trust there really is a rhyme and a reason to the messiness of life and so it's pretty amazing and yeah you know what's amazing you know what

01:55:48 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 3:

honestly is to me therapeutic of talking to you and i've had you talk to my sisters in the past And that you, a therapist or a professional psychiatrist, whatever it might be, they can give you things to work on. You seem to give more than that. You give answers of things that we don't, we never could understand. You know what I mean? Like I remember you had a conversation, a long conversation with my sister, Pat. And there were things that you told her, coming from my mom, that were basically telling Pat, it's time to get up on your feet and go, you know, and get things going. And she needed that.

01:56:31 - 01:56:31 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

01:56:31 - 01:56:37 | Speaker 3:

Because a therapist can tell that to you and you can just say, oh, that's just a bunch of psychological hubbub that you learned at a university.

01:56:38 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 1:

Exactly.

01:56:38 - 01:56:38 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

01:56:38 - 01:57:04 | Speaker 1:

Well, when I can deliver the goods in the sense, give you enough evidence that's real nobody else would know, it gets your attention. Yeah. And you pay attention. And then you take the more universal messages, guidance, seriously. And, you know, I always say one solid reading can be like 10 years of therapy. You cut to the chase. You get straight to it. And spirit always has your best interest at heart. They're going to help you.

01:57:05 - 01:57:29 | Speaker 3:

So here's the interesting thing. You've been in here for less than five minutes, right? However long it took you to walk from outside. But that microphone that you're on was perfectly clean when Megan was talking into it. Every time she comes in studio, whatever microphone that we have you on, and we've talked about this before, suddenly turns fuzzy or has like a little thing.

01:57:29 - 01:57:30 | Speaker 1:

I noticed it as soon as she sat down.

01:57:30 - 01:57:33 | Speaker 3:

And I always believe that it's these spirits that are all...

01:57:33 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 1:

It's the frequency. Is that what it is? Yeah, absolutely. They can stop messing with the microphone now.

01:57:38 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 3:

It's crazy.

01:57:38 - 01:57:38 | Speaker 1:

I know.

01:57:39 - 01:57:58 | Speaker 3:

All right. So here's the story. Just so everybody kind of knows And this goes for everybody This goes for all of us in studio Especially the doubter over there, Megan Who's just sitting there waiting for you to be done She's one of those people But here's the deal The nice thing about Megan is, you know this Is that she is an equal opportunity doubter on all of us

01:57:58 - 01:58:00 | Speaker 2:

It's just a non-stop doubt

01:58:00 - 01:58:03 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean Mike, she's doubted you for how long now?

01:58:03 - 01:58:05 | Speaker 2:

Still does, I don't think she's ever not doubted me

01:58:05 - 01:58:34 | Speaker 3:

So all of us that are here Including the people, we have some guests in the studio with us We've got Amanda, Tina, is it KY or is that Kai? KY would be a very interesting name, wouldn't it? Okay, so we've got a bunch of people here in the studio. But here's the thing. This could be Rebecca if she just all of a sudden randomly starts talking about somebody. This could be her talking to somebody on the show's loved one. Are you feeling anything right now? Are you getting anything right now?

01:58:34 - 01:58:47 | Speaker 1:

I mean, where do I start? There's so much. It's like a party in my head right now. Okay, so there is a Jack or Jackie, and it's over here. So Jack or Jackie for you.

01:58:47 - 01:58:48 | Speaker 3:

Who is that? Is that Amanda?

01:58:48 - 01:58:49 | Speaker 1:

This is Tina.

01:58:50 - 01:58:50 | Speaker 3:

Tina, okay.

01:58:51 - 01:58:54 | Speaker 1:

That would be Jacqueline. Jacqueline. My brother's girlfriend. Okay.

01:58:54 - 01:58:56 | Speaker 3:

Right in that microphone. Talk right in that microphone.

01:58:57 - 01:58:57 | Speaker 1:

Sorry, yes.

01:58:57 - 01:59:02 | Speaker 3:

Your loved one can hear you, but Bob and Canton cannot. Go ahead.

01:59:02 - 01:59:38 | Speaker 1:

Okay. Well, funny you should say Bob because there's also a Bob who's a father figure, and Bob is who to you? is my daughter's uncle bobby okay and uncle bobby were you close to him he's watching over you and so he has your back and he's showing me his job is to make sure that you stay on the right track and something about finishing school or going back to school is that happening okay um very proud of you and something about don't lose your keys i don't know if you always misplace your keys yeah okay um and the tattoo you just got a tattoo wait a second come on did you talk to her in the

01:59:38 - 01:59:48 | Speaker 3:

hallway about tattoos let's get up here and talk to the microphone you can't be standing there in the background again you got to talk to the microphone what happened um yeah i happen to have

01:59:48 - 02:00:00 | Speaker 1:

a well behind my mom's back type of tattoo okay but you did not talk to rebecca i said it uh i said it she did not say this yeah so in your mom

02:00:00 - 02:00:57 | Speaker 2:

mom your mom passed my mom okay is she mary yes okay so your mom mary wants me to tell you how proud she is of you for taking care of you and that you took care of her in ways that she didn't get to thank you and she's talking about the may birthday who has a birthday right now my coming up happy birthday and she's saying she looks after your daughter and that you don't need to worry about everyone and everything right now your work to do is take care of you because you're feeling unfulfilled or really off and that's what i was talking about sometimes we get stuck in our lives and we're like i don't understand why things aren't working out or flowing um your brother passed away i don't i don't know um he is there a major drug alcohol issue with your brother yes okay they're concerned and what i see is that he's either passed on or he is just really checked out because what they're showing me is explain wait can i ask her real quick what explain

02:00:57 - 02:00:58 | Speaker 1:

Where's your brother at?

02:00:59 - 02:01:06 | Speaker 3:

He was getting help right now in rehab. The last I've known. I don't know. I haven't talked to him in a couple weeks.

02:01:06 - 02:01:15 | Speaker 2:

So he's probably alive, but not in his body. When I see this, it's like he is not home. Okay? And they're concerned about him. Now, Jackie, is that?

02:01:15 - 02:01:16 | Speaker 3:

His girlfriend?

02:01:16 - 02:01:51 | Speaker 2:

Yes. She's the one showing me this right now. And she's showing me he's going to go off the rails again if he doesn't take it seriously. you know it's his choices are leading him down the wrong road and they're worried um you can't do anything other than pray for him it does help to send him that positive energy um and then your dad did he have lung problems yes okay your dad is showing me he's out of his body out of his pain and suffering um you and he are really close and he he's showing me ringing in your ears i don't Wow.

02:01:52 - 02:01:52 | Unknown:

Yes, a lot.

02:01:53 - 02:02:15 | Speaker 2:

A lot. That's your dad. And it's what we're saying about the microphones. It's in frequency that comes around you and you're tuned in. He just wants your attention. And he's telling you to take care of your, do you have a lower back problem? Yes. Do you go to a chiropractor? No. It's not going to get better unless somebody comes in and helps you. But you need to be able to feel good to finish the work you're here to do.

02:02:16 - 02:02:23 | Speaker 1:

Can I stop you for one second? because listeners are listening to this going, oh, you got a long list of things in front of you about this woman.

02:02:23 - 02:02:24 | Speaker 3:

She has nothing in front of her.

02:02:25 - 02:02:28 | Speaker 1:

I mean, are you believing this? Are you believing what's going on?

02:02:28 - 02:02:31 | Speaker 3:

Extremely everything she's nailing on the head.

02:02:31 - 02:02:34 | Speaker 1:

Really? Yes. And you have never had an opportunity to meet Rebecca Rosen before?

02:02:35 - 02:02:35 | Speaker 2:

Never.

02:02:35 - 02:02:37 | Speaker 1:

This is unbelievable. Never. Okay.

02:02:38 - 02:02:39 | Speaker 2:

Your sister passed?

02:02:40 - 02:02:40 | Unknown:

Yes.

02:02:41 - 02:02:42 | Speaker 2:

Was it a health-related issue?

02:02:43 - 02:02:44 | Speaker 3:

My sister? No.

02:02:44 - 02:03:14 | Speaker 2:

Okay. Why do I feel like nobody? nobody she's saying one two three it happened fast so that was cindy my niece okay that could have been cindy that's that's who it is and there was a lot of question marks around the passing yes and it happened so fast that she popped out of her body and she was not suffering at all okay it's almost like you're just kind of like confused and spinning but not hurting at all okay she needs to bring peace to that but cindy is showing me was she around 18

02:03:14 - 02:03:20 | Speaker 3:

20 I'm bad I think she was 30 28 or 30

02:03:20 - 02:03:22 | Speaker 2:

So do you know if it happened on the 18th

02:03:22 - 02:03:24 | Speaker 3:

17th, March 17th

02:03:24 - 02:03:27 | Speaker 2:

She's showing me something

02:03:27 - 02:03:29 | Speaker 3:

But that's still in debate

02:03:29 - 02:03:36 | Speaker 2:

There's some foul play here And it's tied to a male And I don't know if it's like a boyfriend

02:03:36 - 02:03:39 | Speaker 1:

Was there belief that there was foul play In her death?

02:03:40 - 02:03:43 | Speaker 3:

We don't know, it's still an open investigation Really?

02:03:43 - 02:03:50 | Speaker 1:

oh my god so does this is the spirit telling you exactly what's going on well they're showing me

02:03:50 - 02:04:11 | Speaker 2:

that there is suspicion and that is to be confirmed there should be and that you have had an intuition on this some do you have a sense that there's a male involved who knows more who's not coming forward i personally had a vision then i'm i'm here validating your vision so you had a

02:04:11 - 02:04:17 | Speaker 1:

vision that there was a man that did this to her and so you need to look into that you do because

02:04:17 - 02:04:23 | Speaker 2:

and i would push whoever's investigating to look at this more closely because otherwise they're

02:04:23 - 02:04:52 | Speaker 1:

gonna miss it megan's over in the corner over there by the way what are you thinking megan honestly no i want to know what you're thinking because honestly because i listen there are people i said this about rebecca there are people that are like myself that have had moments with Rebecca there are people that are listening to this that are probably like oh my god I would love to talk to Rebecca and then there are people like Megan that are like I don't believe any of this stuff but how do you not believe a woman that is sitting there crying right no I think

02:04:52 - 02:05:04 | Speaker 3:

it's it's more believable I'm also of um the thought process where I don't have any buddy who I was super close to who has passed on so i don't think i could possibly have any do you have anybody

02:05:04 - 02:05:12 | Speaker 4:

that is super close to that is alive not particularly all right now back to rebecca

02:05:12 - 02:05:24 | Speaker 2:

rosen well and just for the record your maternal grandfather passed away no did you call somebody Pop-Pop-Poo or Pop-Pop-Poo? Who's Pop-Poo?

02:05:25 - 02:05:28 | Speaker 3:

Pop was my dad's father.

02:05:28 - 02:05:48 | Speaker 2:

That's who it is. He's rolling his eyes at you. And what he's showing me is he's going to make you believe. And he's showing me you be careful. It's something in the car and slamming on your brakes. I don't know if you almost hit something or it's a wake-up call. Okay. I will note it. Do you smoke? No. Okay. Did he? Well.

02:05:49 - 02:05:49 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:05:49 - 02:05:55 | Speaker 2:

Smoking weed, whatever it is.

02:05:55 - 02:05:56 | Speaker 4:

Smoking the reefer.

02:05:57 - 02:06:09 | Speaker 2:

He's showing me sitting with you. Do you do it in the car? No. Okay, he sits with you in the car. Okay. Okay, and he'll give you clear signs, but he's going to give you enough direct information evidence so that you start to believe.

02:06:09 - 02:06:10 | Unknown:

Okay.

02:06:10 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 2:

Okay? I look forward to it. Okay, I'll leave it there. So back to this, what I'm supposed to tell you is that your sister is not very strong, but she's in a good place. So she's with your parents right now. And is that her daughter, the one we just connected, the niece?

02:06:25 - 02:06:25 | Speaker 1:

It's her.

02:06:27 - 02:06:29 | Speaker 2:

No, it's a niece. Okay.

02:06:29 - 02:06:31 | Speaker 1:

My sister never had children.

02:06:31 - 02:06:38 | Speaker 2:

Do we know who Chris or Chrissy or Christy is? Does anybody know who this is? Christine?

02:06:38 - 02:06:40 | Speaker 4:

Chrissy. I don't know. Okay.

02:06:40 - 02:06:52 | Speaker 2:

So the Charlie is coming forward, and I heard that earlier. Is that for you? Okay, so I'm starting to move into Should we have them switch places?

02:06:52 - 02:06:53 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, go ahead

02:06:53 - 02:06:54 | Speaker 2:

Can you step here?

02:06:54 - 02:06:57 | Speaker 4:

And I know you're short of time So as soon as you need to go, you tell

02:06:57 - 02:07:02 | Speaker 2:

I'm just fascinated Okay, so Oh my gosh, I have so much coming in right now

02:07:02 - 02:07:07 | Speaker 4:

Rebecca Rosen in studio with us here on the Mojo in the Morning Show I'll tell you where she's going to be tomorrow

02:07:07 - 02:07:13 | Speaker 2:

So I'm supposed to tell you that Okay, your father is here Okay, and then there's a Charlie Who is Charlie?

02:07:14 - 02:07:16 | Speaker 3:

Related to a friend Tanya that I lost

02:07:16 - 02:07:39 | Speaker 2:

Okay, and Tanya is here, and that's your girlfriend. She's like a soul sister to you. Now, where does the butterfly connection come in? With Tanya. Tanya. That's her little wink to you to let you know when she's around. She's telling you she's sorry either she died too fast or there was no closure, correct? Correct. And she's showing you found out after the fact and that you were taken back. Had you lost touch with her for a while?

02:07:40 - 02:07:45 | Speaker 3:

About a half hour prior, I talked to her. We were supposed to meet, and there was nothing after that.

02:07:45 - 02:08:09 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so it's something about you should not feel guilty about her passing. Your dad is the reason you're here today. He gave you a lot of signs in the car. Does he talk to you through, like, the radio, like maybe this show? All the time. He's saying you knew you had to be here. And he's saying to you, what's with the red bird, the cardinal?

02:08:10 - 02:08:14 | Speaker 3:

That was my great-grandpa. I always said he was going to come back as a cardinal when he passed.

02:08:14 - 02:08:22 | Speaker 2:

okay he's watching over you too um and then i'm supposed to tell you um hold on so who's jr

02:08:22 - 02:08:29 | Speaker 3:

do you know who junior or jr is um my husband's dad was a junior okay he's here and he's talking

02:08:29 - 02:09:42 | Speaker 2:

about not okay with your husband your husband is either unkind unloving um he's been there's big issues here with your marriage do you get that 100 your dad and your father-in-law saying not okay and you need to set some clear boundaries with him and either work it out or walk away because you deserve to be loved cherished and adored and he's being um abusive honestly what i see is mentally emotionally you get that i do 100 you deserve better and you need to claim that and his father your husband's father is taking responsibility like he created this mess he's behind the scenes trying to heal it this is my book it's about spirits who leave behind their their baggage it's transgenerational patterns passed down and what he's saying is i'm sorry i'm guilty but i'm gonna from behind the scenes try and make this right by trying to wake up my son so that he shows up and is more loving and kind wow that makes complete sense do you know tom is that's that's me that's my real name tom hi somebody up there is saying your name Your mother, are you the favorite child?

02:09:43 - 02:09:46 | Speaker 4:

I was the baby, but my sister Pat would say she's the favorite child.

02:09:46 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 2:

Your mother is showing me how much she loves you, and I'm seeing there was just a birthday or anniversary of something celebrated.

02:09:52 - 02:09:52 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:09:52 - 02:09:57 | Speaker 2:

And she's telling you something about the Cuban cigar. Who's the cigar speaker?

02:09:57 - 02:10:00 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to get cigars for...

02:10:00 - 02:10:35 | Speaker 1:

yeah my dad was just in my in my dream and uh with luke graduating from school yes and we're

02:11:17 - 02:11:29 | Speaker 1:

02:13:13 - 02:13:15 | Speaker 4:

I know I wanted to hear more

02:13:15 - 02:13:26 | Speaker 3:

This is very behind the scenes I know but can I tell you something I was wiping the snot off my nose there

02:13:26 - 02:13:32 | Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh

02:13:32 - 02:13:40 | Speaker 3:

You know what though You guys listen to podcasts all the time and podcasts are kind of goofy We can be goofy every now and again.

02:13:42 - 02:13:46 | Speaker 4:

Wait, what are you blowing your nose away? Do you have a handkerchief? Yeah, there's Kleenex now.

02:13:46 - 02:13:58 | Speaker 3:

I know. Somebody brought them, but nobody gave me any on this side. So throw me some on this side. That was crazy. I'm going to say this to you, Megan. That was crazy, too, with Papa or whoever he was that was visiting.

02:14:00 - 02:14:15 | Speaker 4:

I literally could just say and listen to her. I mean, when she gets going, she gets going. I love that it means a lot to people. And since you're not in the studio and you can't see this, but when she reads, she kind of just, like, stares into space. It's crazy to watch her.

02:14:15 - 02:14:34 | Speaker 3:

And most psychics are, like, really ugly people. And she's, like, gorgeous. Isn't she? She is. Honestly, most psychics, no offense, I'm sure that you're one of the few that are beautiful if you are a psychic. Yeah. But most psychics, you go see and they got, like, nose warts and things like that.

02:14:34 - 02:14:38 | Speaker 2:

There's always dark lighting, and it's always, like, curtains over the shades. Exactly. Or curtains over the windows.

02:14:39 - 02:14:59 | Speaker 3:

Like, there's just part of you that you're sitting there going, God, I know my dad's talking to you, but I'm sitting there looking at your eyes. They're beautiful. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning. It's time now for Am I the A-Hole, where you get to say that somebody's an a-hole, or you get to actually say, nope, what they did was justified. Melanie.

02:15:00 - 02:15:32 | Speaker 6:

on with us we gave you an an alias so this is not her name isn't that right melanie or is your name really melanie and we screwed up again with that's right how you doing i'm doing okay how are you this morning good am i the a-hole so melanie is getting ready to celebrate a birthday whose whose birthday is it it's my daughter's how old your daughter she's seven oh so she's going to be yeah okay and what's the uh what's the am i the a-hole

02:15:32 - 02:16:15 | Speaker 4:

okay well there's she's friends with so many people in her class at school and they're wonderful parents as well so i've invited like the kids and the parents obviously as well if they want um but there's this one friend that she has and that friend's mom is like I can't, I just can't be around her. I don't know why. It's incredibly, I don't know, just very difficult. And so I'm not inviting that friend of hers because I don't want that parent to come. And I feel I'm just kind of, am I an a-hole?

02:16:17 - 02:16:23 | Speaker 1:

Melanie, every single parent listening to you right now relates to this so much.

02:16:23 - 02:16:27 | Speaker 6:

Is that a normal thing, though? You don't like a kid?

02:16:27 - 02:16:38 | Speaker 1:

No, I'm not saying the non-inviting part. I'm just saying there is always somebody that your child is friends with, and the parent's like, I love the kid, but the parent is just a whole different story.

02:16:38 - 02:16:47 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, we're in the middle of this right now. We're doing Cecily's birthday party this weekend. And I thought they just dropped the kids off and left. Is that not a thing?

02:16:47 - 02:17:02 | Speaker 1:

Well, you can. You can. I mean, especially like 7, 8, I would say that that's like the time when, at least in my opinion you know that's okay and some parents would choose to stay and that's okay too yeah why could melanie why could you not do that yeah maybe just make it could you make it a

02:17:02 - 02:17:32 | Speaker 4:

drop-off party yeah um yeah i kind of you know we have a pool so um you know there's some parents are really touchy oh yeah swimming and safety and they just want to hang out and be on the periphery And I'm totally cool with that. I have other things planned for the parents. We have space for it. But this is a parent. I think it's a satellite parent, like just like constantly micromanaging. And I just, oh.

02:17:33 - 02:17:57 | Speaker 6:

That's funny because I'm past the stage of like kid parties and things. But I wondered if I was the a-hole ever for any of the parties. I used to like to stick around just to hang and talk to the parents. But Melinda, what do you think? Like, is Melanie an a-hole for not inviting a friend of her daughter's, and she's doing it because she doesn't like the mom?

02:17:59 - 02:18:16 | Speaker 3:

Oh, most definitely. I mean, you have a party for your child, your child of seven. Imagine being that seven-year-old that didn't get invited and everyone else did. Suck it up, mom. Do it for your children. That's what we're here for, to make our children's life the best. you can deal with it for two hours.

02:18:19 - 02:18:43 | Speaker 1:

Melody's like, you don't understand. No, I kind of felt the same thing. No, for sure. You're an adult. I mean, we do everything for our kids, right? I don't think that you're an a-hole for thinking that you don't want to invite this parent, but I do think that for your daughter's sake, she wants this, I don't know if it's a little boy or a little girl at the party. Jen?

02:18:44 - 02:19:08 | Speaker 2:

Um, I agree with Shannon. I think she needs to suck it up. Um, it is your house. So you're not an a-hole for like not wanting certain people in it, but, um, you know, you're an adult and this is kind of what we have to do for our children. Um, I I've done far worse for my children than deal with somebody I don't like. So, you know, how is it with you, uh, Melanie,

02:19:08 - 02:19:13 | Speaker 6:

when you're going to school and that mom is there, is it awkward for you to be around or do you just

02:19:13 - 02:19:36 | Speaker 4:

ignore her um yeah i definitely think it's it's awkward and like i seem to i don't know be a trigger for her um you know she's always criticizing me and it's one of those moms he's just like please like this is not an exam or she would she what she criticized does she

02:19:36 - 02:19:40 | Speaker 6:

criticize your parenting or just criticize you or does she throw like little snide comments out

02:19:40 - 02:19:59 | Speaker 4:

It's definitely the snide comments That she and I know There's conflict but she's playing Cool with everyone else And not making it obvious to anybody else And I hear what other people are saying And I'm willing to do that This weekend I have time Here's what I would say

02:20:00 - 02:20:19 | Speaker 1:

I'm going to throw this out there. Sometimes you learn a little bit more about somebody when you get out of the school environment. Like, if you bring them to your house, I don't think that people are going to be, you know, rude in your own home. And if they are, then you know, you got confirmation that you got to make sure that this kid never is in your kid's class ever again, you know?

02:20:19 - 02:20:22 | Speaker 5:

Or hopefully it's the dad that brings the kid to the birthday party.

02:20:22 - 02:20:24 | Speaker 1:

Kaylee, what's up? Am I the a-hole?

02:20:25 - 02:20:55 | Speaker 3:

So, I don't think she's necessarily the a-hole. if she's more of a parent that likes to micromanage and have control over other people's, you know, events or parties, if she's doing that in your home, you can be polite and just kind of set boundaries. You're at your own home. You can say, you know, what you're doing, or you can kind of just dodge her and go talk to other parents. So, again, you're at your own house. You don't have to constantly host that one parent.

02:20:55 - 02:20:59 | Speaker 1:

This is also what they make booze and sunglasses for. You don't have to deal with people that way.

02:20:59 - 02:21:02 | Speaker 5:

Not when the kids are in the pool. What's up, Ann?

02:21:04 - 02:21:15 | Speaker 4:

Hi. Good morning. Yes, I think she is a big a-hole. Can you imagine being that little girl being the only one not invited and going back to school and hearing all about it? It's just safe for a close.

02:21:15 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 1:

That's actually the – Ann, that's a great point. Don't take it out on the kid that the mom is a pain in the ass.

02:21:21 - 02:21:21 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

02:21:21 - 02:21:22 | Speaker 1:

You know?

02:21:22 - 02:21:32 | Speaker 4:

Right. And then, you know, if there's other adults there, again, she can mingle that woman. She can ignore that woman and just, you know, the other woman. I just went to the dentist, so sorry.

02:21:33 - 02:21:35 | Speaker 1:

Oh, she got a little Novocaine in your mouth.

02:21:35 - 02:21:36 | Speaker 4:

Yes, I do.

02:21:37 - 02:21:43 | Speaker 1:

It's funny because I didn't even notice it until you just said it. Maybe because it sounds like you're talking with a mouthful of syrup. Yeah, that's funny.

02:21:43 - 02:21:51 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I feel like it. But the other woman may mingle with the other parents and not even go up to her and talk to her, you know. So I just don't take it out on the child.

02:21:51 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, I feel bad, especially if the kids all go to school the next day and they say something about it, you know, or go to school the next day.

02:21:58 - 02:21:58 | Speaker 5:

You don't want her to feel left out.

02:21:58 - 02:22:05 | Speaker 1:

Janae, last call here for Melanie, advice. It seems like it's kind of to invite. What do you think?

02:22:06 - 02:22:30 | Speaker 2:

She is not the a-hole. She's not the a-hole. I understand 100%. I have three children, and I understand what it would be like if that other child comes in and is not invited to the party. I get it. But at what point as a parent do we have to be made to feel uncomfortable in our own home by some other parent that wants to come and micromanage?

02:22:31 - 02:22:35 | Speaker 1:

Right. But don't you feel, you don't feel bad enough for that kid to just deal with it?

02:22:36 - 02:22:43 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so let me ask you this. How many parties, how many kids are in this classroom for every child to feel like they have to go to every party?

02:22:44 - 02:22:55 | Speaker 1:

Well, how many kids will not be invited to the party, Melanie? If I do it, will there be other kids not invited to the party?

02:22:56 - 02:23:01 | Speaker 4:

Definitely. I mean, she, you know, there's, yeah, like a lot, just like 35.

02:23:01 - 02:23:07 | Speaker 5:

But is this child one of your daughter's really close friends? Yeah.

02:23:07 - 02:23:55 | Speaker 2:

Okay. In the class. Not a really close friend. I guess my thing would be, I would have to at least tell the mother. Before the party, if you've had run-ins with this mother before, if you've been invited to other things or she's been invited to other things, and obviously there's some contact you've had to know that she is a micromanaging parent, let her know beforehand. Obviously, if our daughters are friends, I wouldn't take it out on my child. But if I'm not also going to be made to feel uncomfortable, like I'm doing something wrong or like I'm not a good parent or to your, you know, standard because you want to micromanage somebody else's home. I'll let that parent know before. Like, hey, listen, this ain't your house. Don't come in here with that.

02:23:56 - 02:24:04 | Speaker 1:

Maybe you, Janae. How about this? Why don't you just invite Melanie? Give me my number. I will call. Invite Janae to the party and make her be your-

02:24:04 - 02:24:05 | Speaker 5:

You could be like the bouncer at the door.

02:24:05 - 02:24:07 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, your friend that's going to keep everybody straight.

02:24:08 - 02:24:10 | Speaker 5:

Check the parents. Is your attitude together?

02:24:10 - 02:24:12 | Speaker 2:

No? All right, you got to go. I like it.

02:24:12 - 02:24:25 | Speaker 1:

There should be a call service that just delivers bad news. Like any kind of bad news. Sorry to tell you, but your daughter's invited. You're not. Leave her at the curb. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

02:24:25 - 02:24:48 | Speaker 5:

All right, Shannon. You ready? What do you got here? All right, we have a big concert announcement. Coming up in 28 minutes at 10 a.m., Post Malone's coming to town. We're going to tell you where and hook you up with a pair of tickets, but you've got to wait until 10 o'clock. I'm not allowed. I'll get in trouble.

02:24:48 - 02:24:59 | Speaker 1:

You know what's funny? I was looking at all the shows that are coming to town and realizing that I really want to see Drake. I'd love to go.

02:25:00 - 02:25:08 | Speaker 5:

and see Taylor Swift only just because I've got friends and family that want to go, so I'd love to give them an opportunity to go. I want to go see Ed

02:25:08 - 02:25:09 | Speaker 2:

so bad.

02:25:10 - 02:25:19 | Speaker 5:

But Post Malone is the one that everybody told me last time when Post Malone came. It was incredible. It was awesome. You were there. Okay, I remember that. Post Malone and Beyonce.

02:25:20 - 02:25:33 | Speaker 3:

Not Beyonce. Post Malone. Not Beyonce? That's a three-hour epic show. Are you crazy i'm i'm with a lot of other things i could do for three hours i saw all the hits i saw jay-z

02:25:33 - 02:25:40 | Speaker 5:

and beyonce together oh that's a good one too and jay-z was fantastic beyonce eh i would not i'd

02:25:40 - 02:25:45 | Speaker 3:

rather take an everything shower i will not allow this beyonce slander on the show mike let me say

02:25:45 - 02:25:50 | Speaker 5:

this to you it's a personal it was just kind of like it was just okay like i like i don't know

02:25:50 - 02:25:55 | Speaker 4:

okay beyonce does i feel like beyonce couldn't put on an okay show yeah are you crazy the people

02:25:55 - 02:26:00 | Speaker 5:

that were in the crowd to me had more energy than Beyonce did when I was at that show.

02:26:00 - 02:26:02 | Speaker 1:

You are just trying to brought us up, aren't you?

02:26:02 - 02:26:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm just saying. There's no way. At least I know going to Post Malone that he's going to be so stoned and the entire place is going to smell like weed. I will not have to go and get myself any edibles for a long time. All right, 10 o'clock. We'll listen.

02:26:19 - 02:26:20 | Speaker 1:

I hope you get attacked for that statement.

02:26:21 - 02:27:03 | Speaker 2:

Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady, everybody's talking about them. I'm just going to kill this before it even gets started. They are not a couple. So if you've seen the rumors that something's happening, they are friends. She is looking to buy a home in the neighborhood where he has a vacation home in the Bahamas. It's called the Baker's Bay Gulf and Ocean Club. It's a very exclusive, members-only residential community in the Bahamas. I guess she flew to the Bahamas this weekend. She was spotted touring the resort. I'm told that she and Tom talked on the phone a couple of times about said community or not paying taxes. Thank you. And there you go, my goodness. And so that's about it.

02:27:03 - 02:27:07 | Speaker 1:

The Bahamas are a tax haven. There's no personal income. They are friendly with each other.

02:27:08 - 02:28:10 | Speaker 2:

A 62-year-old Swifty has gone viral after she was spotted at Taylor's show in Philly on Sunday night Reading printed out lyrics This is the cutest thing ever So this woman had printed 81 pages Every single song that Taylor did She had the lyrics there All clipped together with a little reading light Clipped on top I saw somebody call it her hymnal Oh my god It is so funny And she just said she loves Taylor She loves her lyrics She put together the packet of lyrics at a staples store Before the show and she was all ready for the concert. She could follow along. That was really cute. Madonna in the Dirty this morning and word on the street is that she's been getting ridiculously close to Maluma at rehearsals for her upcoming world tour. Who's Maluma? Yeah, what's Maluma? You don't know who Maluma is? No. Don't we play any Maluma songs?

02:28:10 - 02:28:13 | Speaker 4:

Maluma? I have no idea.

02:28:13 - 02:28:14 | Speaker 2:

Are you sure you got that? Colombian singer?

02:28:14 - 02:28:23 | Speaker 4:

Oh, really? We played Maluma? I don't know. Wasn't he at something for I Heart recently? Or am I getting confused?

02:28:23 - 02:28:31 | Speaker 5:

Maybe it was the I Heart Latin Festival or something. Maluma, we have, okay, a Maluma song in here, but I don't know who Maluma is.

02:28:32 - 02:28:57 | Speaker 2:

He's 29. Okay. She's 64, so that's part of this story. But they were together in New York City. There's so much PDA that the crew for her tour says They actually have been avoiding them because it's so awkward and uncomfortable to be around them. So we'll see what happens. They first met at the VMAs a couple of years ago, and they were kind of cozy there. And now it continues.

02:28:58 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 5:

Don't you just get the feeling sometimes that, again, everybody in Hollywood just dates just to get the...

02:29:04 - 02:29:04 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:29:05 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 5:

She's dating the young guy thing.

02:29:08 - 02:29:08 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

02:29:09 - 02:29:09 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

02:29:09 - 02:29:11 | Speaker 1:

Keep that in because I can't breathe and I need to take my name.

02:29:12 - 02:29:16 | Speaker 5:

Oh, really? Can you do it live on the air? Yeah, do it.

02:29:18 - 02:29:18 | Speaker 1:

Talk.

02:29:19 - 02:29:20 | Speaker 5:

No, she's good. No, hold on.

02:29:21 - 02:29:23 | Speaker 1:

It defeats the whole purpose, huh?

02:29:24 - 02:29:54 | Speaker 2:

I'm having like a massive issue this morning. It's okay. Okay. The Oakland Athletics have reached an agreement with Valleys to build a potential stadium in Las Vegas. Stadium would seat about 30,000 people. It would be where, is the Tropicana Hotel still on the Vegas Strip or did they demolish it? Okay, so it would be where the Tropicana is. It would cost about $1.5 billion. They're hoping to have this venue open and ready in time for the 2027 season.

02:29:54 - 02:30:00 | Speaker 5:

It's amazing. Can you imagine if you're from the Bay Area or Oakland? Now you're worried about...

02:30:00 - 02:30:04 | Speaker 3:

Golden State Warriors, will they leave and go to Vegas? Everybody's leaving that area.

02:30:04 - 02:30:49 | Speaker 2:

And lastly, this story's gone viral. A driver who was pulled over for speeding, I think he had a few drinks as well, tried to switch places with his dog in order to avoid arrests. This is in Springfield, Colorado. The officer pulled the man over, watched him maneuvering inside the car before this idiot got out on the passenger side. When asked how much he'd had to drink, the man tried to run. He was caught 20 yards away, but yeah, he put his dog in the driver's seat to pretend the dog had been driving and not him. That's my kind of criminal. For all of today's Dirty, check out the Dirty page on MojoInTheMorning.com.

So, Mike, you live in a neighborhood where it's kind of like a little game to see who can do the best job on their lawns, and it's already starting this early in the season? It's the weirdest thing. the entire world i didn't understand what it was when i first moved in i'm like two years in there now and it's like these dads will come out and they'll walk down through the like the neighborhood or whatever and you'll see them stop with their well their wife or whatever and they'll take a look and they'll point at stuff and then they'll keep walking and i'm like i don't really understand what they're doing and then i heard my neighbor right next to me the other day walk out with his wife and they looked over at my neighbor across the street and they're like i can't believe they got their flowers in already they got their they just we just went to costco and they already did They got their flowers in already. I can't believe it. Well, they must be doing something. And they start arguing about it. And I'm like, this is a competition. I'm like, this is a neighborhood competition where people try to get their lawns to look the best. And nobody really, like, it's not outspoken. Like, people don't talk about it a lot. But, like, you could sense that everybody, like, every neighbor is looking at each other's lawns. And they always walk over to mine because mine sucks. Mine's the absolute worst. Like, I put a little bit of mulch in and think I've done, you know, the world. and they look at mine and they'll always make comments about like trying to help it or or how

02:36:02 - 02:36:08 | Speaker 1:

really yeah oh yeah it looks and you hear them saying these things to me those they say to me

02:36:08 - 02:36:34 | Speaker 3:

oh yeah they say it to me like it's supposed to like you could tell they're trying to be as nice as they possibly can about it but there's a slight undertone and you're like i'm okay i get what you're saying i understand it yeah but it's and i should show you a picture because it is really bad there's these big like patchy spots and because i genuinely have no idea what i'm doing I know how to mow a lawn And that is it I don't know fertilizer I don't know mulch And all that other stuff I have no idea

02:36:34 - 02:36:41 | Speaker 2:

When you bought that house Did your The former owner of the house Take care of that house Nicer than you did?

02:36:41 - 02:36:47 | Speaker 3:

The yard I would say yes Unless he just did it up To sell it Because it looked a lot nicer When I moved in

02:36:47 - 02:36:57 | Speaker 2:

So because We've experienced this In our neighborhood Where there are new neighbors And the new neighbors Don't take care of the yard as nice as the old neighbors do.

02:36:58 - 02:37:03 | Speaker 1:

And I bet their Christmas decorations suck too compared to the old neighbors.

02:37:03 - 02:37:32 | Speaker 2:

And this is the thing. People start comparing. And the house is not by mine. It's a few houses down the road. And all the neighbors in that area are all upset because they don't take care of it. So they said, they were talking, and they were like, can we go over there and just start taking care of it for them? And I'm like, you can't do that. That's like having sex with another man's wife. You can't all of a sudden Unless you do it at my house Because you can have sex with my wife If you want to or mulch my own property

02:37:32 - 02:37:47 | Speaker 3:

Well here's the thing is I want to like I want to secretly Hire somebody And just have them do it And then one day they'll just come Outside and go whoa This guy really knows what he's doing Look at his lawn it's completely different

02:37:47 - 02:37:50 | Speaker 1:

Like you want to get it sodded or something So it looks

02:37:50 - 02:38:20 | Speaker 3:

What is that I don't even know what that is Well, what's wrong with your lawn, your house? There's nothing wrong with the house, with the yard. No, I'm talking about the yard. There's big brown patches where it looks like it's dyed, like the grass has dyed. Where the bushes and the flowers are, there's no mulch or anything. That's all evaporated, and it needs, there's not even- So you need mulch? Well, there's not even the bed or whatever you're supposed to put under it. Okay. The sheet, they just put it over grass. So it's all outgrown, and it looks really, really, really bad.

02:38:20 - 02:38:31 | Speaker 2:

Basically, Mike, that's not grass. That's called weeds. Okay. You probably got to pull that up. If there was mulch there before and now all of a sudden it's what you think is grass, that's weeds.

02:38:31 - 02:38:33 | Speaker 3:

Well, isn't there supposed to be something under the mulch?

02:38:34 - 02:38:38 | Speaker 2:

Some cases. Some times people just have beds. I just have dirt under mine.

02:38:38 - 02:38:39 | Speaker 3:

Oh, really?

02:38:39 - 02:38:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. Yeah. So basically, Mike, you're the guy that people are living next to that have the house that's kind of the...

02:38:46 - 02:38:47 | Speaker 3:

Trash.

02:38:47 - 02:38:49 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. You got the trash house.

02:38:50 - 02:38:59 | Speaker 3:

That was my neighbor. walking by my house when it's frayed. That comes from somebody who is clearly the trash on her straight.

02:38:59 - 02:39:11 | Speaker 2:

I think what you probably need to do with the dead spots in the lawn, and don't quote me on this one, is I think that there's ways that you need to get it sprayed or something like that. You need to have somebody come and do something.

02:39:11 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 1:

You know, there is a spray that can make those dead spots instantly green. What is it, painted green? Yeah, but it's for... No, I'm serious, but it's for... Like regrowth? No. It's for like bushes and grass and stuff.

02:39:26 - 02:39:26 | Speaker 2:

It's the same stuff.

02:39:26 - 02:39:27 | Speaker 1:

You can buy it at Home Depot.

02:39:27 - 02:39:30 | Speaker 2:

Same stuff with guys that have bald spots spray on them.

02:39:30 - 02:39:31 | Speaker 1:

Correct, but it's just a different color.

02:39:32 - 02:39:39 | Speaker 2:

Actually, Shannon, you know where the spots are? They're probably the spots are where the neighbors are letting their dogs pee on your yard.

02:39:39 - 02:39:42 | Speaker 1:

Oh, they're sabotaging you. Does that do that?

02:39:42 - 02:39:43 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

02:39:43 - 02:39:43 | Unknown:

What?

02:39:44 - 02:39:54 | Speaker 2:

The dogs pee. Yeah. Because you have a cat, so it's not your animal. What's up, Blake? How you doing? how you doing good what's going on can you help mike here he's got

02:39:54 - 02:40:00 | Speaker 3:

as megan calls a trash yard it's definitely it's definitely a competition you have

02:40:00 - 02:40:02 | Speaker 5:

You have to have a better-looking yard than your neighbors.

02:40:02 - 02:40:07 | Speaker 6:

And so what can Mike do? Should he go hire it out, or do you think he can pull it together himself?

02:40:08 - 02:40:10 | Speaker 5:

He can definitely do it himself.

02:40:11 - 02:40:27 | Speaker 6:

It's going to take a little bit of time and work, but he's going to have a new baby on the way. I don't know if he's got the time to do that. I could send Peasy over there to do it. Oh, my God. Wait a second. Hold on. This is Blake, the plow guy? Yep, yep. Wait, so what do we call you guys when it's not plow season?

02:40:28 - 02:40:31 | Speaker 4:

The Mojo in the Morning Mo Crew, I guess.

02:40:32 - 02:40:33 | Speaker 5:

Okay, I like that better.

02:40:34 - 02:40:51 | Speaker 6:

The Mo Crew. So, Blake, PZ, what's the other guys' names? Jay. Jay. Blake, PZ, and Jay, they were the plow guys during the wintertime. Now they're the Mo Crew. And maybe we can have you guys drive up from Toledo and go help Mike in Grand Rapids.

02:40:53 - 02:41:04 | Speaker 4:

You'd have to pay us some good money. What about good green to stay in Toledo and help a girl out? Still have to pay us some good money.

02:41:05 - 02:41:06 | Speaker 6:

Where's Peasy at?

02:41:07 - 02:41:10 | Speaker 4:

He's right here. He can hear you. Hey, Peasy.

02:41:10 - 02:41:17 | Speaker 6:

What's going on? Peasy. What's up? Any advice you can give to Mike? He's got a lawn that is struggling right now.

02:41:21 - 02:41:25 | Speaker 2:

Well, how big is it? I don't know what it looks like. I can't really give you any advice on it.

02:41:25 - 02:41:36 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, well, it's been a struggle here. He needs mulch. He's got spots that are yellow in his yard. How do you get rid of yellow spots?

02:41:38 - 02:41:44 | Speaker 5:

You've got to wait on the grass to grow. Just don't cut it too short. If you cut your grass too short, it will turn yellow.

02:41:45 - 02:41:46 | Speaker 6:

Mike, do you cut your grass yourself?

02:41:47 - 02:41:53 | Speaker 5:

Yes, yeah, yeah. Don't cut it too short. Let it grow. Oh, yeah, Mike. Mike just sent us a picture.

02:41:53 - 02:41:54 | Speaker 6:

Andre.

02:41:54 - 02:41:55 | Speaker 5:

It's bad, bad.

02:41:55 - 02:42:01 | Speaker 6:

Andre, you wanted to give some advice? You're on with the Mo Crew and Mojo in the Morning. We're all the Mo Crew.

02:42:01 - 02:42:26 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, man. Am I talking to Mike here? Yes. Yeah, hey. Yeah, man. I just went through it, man. All you need, the first thing you need is you need to make sure your blade is sharp. Take it somewhere. Sharpen your blade. That'll rip the ends. It'll make it look yellow. You just need some fertilizer. And then those yellow spots might die. Mike doesn't have yellow spots

02:42:26 - 02:42:35 | Speaker 6:

He's got dead spots He's got bald spots He's got a yard that looks like the grass Has turned into Crab grass

02:42:35 - 02:42:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah man The bald spots They eat all the roots

02:42:40 - 02:42:42 | Speaker 6:

Mike how long has it been this way

02:42:42 - 02:42:50 | Speaker 7:

Right around See it was fine when I moved in It was like the second I Moved in it started going bad

02:42:50 - 02:43:11 | Speaker 6:

You know what you do? This is what my suggestion is, PZ and Blake and Jay and then, of course, Andre. Just park cars on that. Just put cars right over it. Nobody will see it because your house already is known as that house. Don't you think that his house is already known as? They probably all think he's a drug dealer, don't they?

02:43:11 - 02:43:15 | Speaker 4:

Hey, just get him a can of green spray paint and tell him to spray paint.

02:43:15 - 02:43:17 | Speaker 5:

You can get it on Amazon. It's called Renew.

02:43:17 - 02:43:21 | Speaker 6:

It's going to need more than green spray paint. He's going to need a hair transplant on this one.

02:43:23 - 02:43:29 | Speaker 3:

That's what I'm telling you. He needs sod. Call Drew Green, man. Call Drew Green. Drop some coin on it. They'll fix you.

02:43:29 - 02:43:36 | Speaker 6:

All right. All right. Thank you, Andre. Appreciate it. Thanks, man. PZ, Blake, Jay, thanks you guys so much. What's up, Jalen?

02:43:37 - 02:43:50 | Speaker 1:

Hey, how's it going? Yeah, I was just saying that I'm basically in the same place as Mike right now. My yard's been looking pretty rough the last couple years, and I just missed the last week and was able to get down with some weed killers, and speeded it, so hopefully it's going to start looking real good. My neighbors won't complain.

02:43:51 - 02:43:53 | Speaker 6:

So you were able to do it all in the course of a weekend?

02:43:55 - 02:43:55 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

02:43:55 - 02:43:56 | Unknown:

Didn't take too much time.

02:43:56 - 02:43:58 | Speaker 6:

So hop to it, Mike. You can get this thing done.

02:43:59 - 02:44:12 | Speaker 7:

I have no idea where to begin. Genuinely. So there was even a sprinkler system in there when I moved in, and it broke the second I moved in. So I think that's how they had it nice is they had a sprinkler system. Well, there you go. You don't have a sprinkler system? No. No.

02:44:12 - 02:44:18 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, you've got to be watering it somehow. How are you not watering your lawn? You don't need a sprinkler system to water his lawn, you guys.

02:44:18 - 02:44:27 | Speaker 6:

He's not watering his lawn. His lawn is only green right now in this picture because it's been raining. I've never watered my lawn. Ever. And you know what? Ever. And your yard is what?

02:44:27 - 02:44:32 | Speaker 5:

You don't even have the one that goes like real slow back and forth? No, I'm trash. My yard looks green.

02:44:33 - 02:44:59 | Speaker 7:

The hose you see in that picture, too, I just bought like one of those like sprinklers that you just go back and forth. Those ones that the kids run through. Right. But I don't have like a nice sprinkler system. I thought the guy put a sprinkler system in there. He just said he broke it. No, they broke it. Yeah, it was broke when I got there. So somebody had winterized it or not winterized it and then turned it on, and it blew out in the middle of winter. And then when I moved in, I have to replace a whole thing.

02:45:00 - 02:45:02 | Speaker 4:

I know I need to fix it. I'm working on it. I'm working on it.

02:45:03 - 02:45:19 | Speaker 5:

Michael. This is why I got bald spots in my head, too. Your poor neighbors. Jalen, you don't want to live next to this guy. What are your neighbors' names? What are their names? We're going to apologize. Mike and Mary. Mike and Mary. They're great people. They're old people, aren't they, Mike and Mary?

02:45:19 - 02:45:29 | Speaker 4:

Yes, they are. They're a wonderful couple. And then I don't know the guy next to me's name. I refuse to remember it because he's the guy with the dog that I don't like. Oh, yeah. Yeah, so I'm refusing to remember his name.

02:45:30 - 02:46:53 | Speaker 5:

You're the guy with the man lawn. He's the guy with the dog. It's probably his dog peeing on my lawn. I love it. That's more than pee that did that. All right, I just got three stories for you, and they're kind of interesting. Did you know that they're saying that Memorial Day is going to be a record-breaking travel weekend? Memorial Day weekend, which is next weekend, so not this weekend, but the following weekend. They're saying will be the busiest travel weekend since 2019, pre-pandemic levels. And AAA expects that 42.3 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from their home to somewhere for this holiday weekend, which will be an increase of more than 7%. This Memorial Day weekend could also be the busiest at the airports since 2005. So since 2005. But do you guys know how much time that you waste going on coffee breaks? Ready for this one? The average person spends nearly 50 hours a year purchasing coffee from wherever they go get it, leaving work and going to get it during their work day. So if you leave work and say, all right, we're going to go get some coffee and go get coffee.

02:46:53 - 02:46:54 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a time sucker.

02:46:54 - 02:47:21 | Speaker 5:

50 hours a year, which adds up to be, if you look at 50 hours a year, it's like basically a full week of your year that you're wasting doing it. 77% of coffee drinkers need two or more cups of coffee to be productive when they're at work. And they say that Mondays are the worst days when it comes to that. Is this cool or creepy? Human DNA can be collected from anywhere, even the air, according to a scientist.

02:47:22 - 02:47:28 | Speaker 1:

I mean, that makes sense to me, right? human DNA in the air? So we're just breathing in dead people?

02:47:28 - 02:47:52 | Speaker 5:

Researchers have gathered and analyzed environmental air to show that they can detect and match an individual based on their DNA if they're even just walking and breathing. And this is wild because remember in the past whenever you'd hear these stories about people having to get somebody's DNA, they would usually get it off of something like them drinking from a cop

02:47:52 - 02:48:06 | Speaker 2:

or, you know. Don't you ever think about, like, I feel like there's just dead people all around. Like, sometimes when I'm swimming in a lake or if I go to the ocean or something, I'm like, I'm swimming in someone's ashes. Yep. You know it. Yep. You know who you are.

02:48:06 - 02:48:09 | Speaker 5:

Absolutely. I just thought you said, I'm swimming in somebody's asses.

02:48:10 - 02:48:13 | Speaker 3:

Well, probably that too. It's probably hot out, swamp asses.

02:48:13 - 02:48:21 | Speaker 5:

We had the psychic in this morning, Rebecca Rosen, talking about the dead people. So they're all around us, and their DNA is all around us too.

02:48:21 - 02:48:29 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever think science goes too far, though? If you can find human DNA in the air Just stop We've gone too far, stop

02:48:29 - 02:48:43 | Speaker 5:

Could you or would you Wipe with leaves Instead of toilet paper to save money Robin Greenfield An environmental activist Has traded toilet paper for leaves Would you

02:48:43 - 02:48:49 | Speaker 2:

I mean I would as long as I could have access to wipes Just in case

02:48:49 - 02:48:53 | Speaker 3:

I'm not a botanist I know I would accidentally pick like poison ivy.

02:48:55 - 02:49:22 | Speaker 5:

Greenfield has grown in their backyard, in his backyard, trees that have big leaves just for this purpose. He also noted on his website that the plant that grows in Florida that he uses for this is much softer than the plant that would grow in California. and the plant has a special name to it and I can't pronounce it.

02:49:22 - 02:49:27 | Speaker 2:

So that's the thing though. It doesn't seem like it would be very absorbing to me.

02:49:28 - 02:49:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. I don't know. I still need my wet wipes and I know that the environmentalists hate that but I still need the wet wipes. They're so fantastic. I just need, even if I just use one wet wipe just to kind of get rid of it. There's no way that a leaf is cleaning all that. Right.

02:49:45 - 02:49:49 | Speaker 2:

Well, neither is just toilet paper, by the way. Yeah, yeah, I agree. Think about that.

02:49:49 - 02:49:51 | Speaker 5:

Shannon showed me this demonstration one time.

02:49:51 - 02:49:55 | Speaker 2:

I sure did. I'm going to do it again. You guys. I'm not going to show you.

02:49:55 - 02:49:57 | Speaker 5:

No, not with her booty, but with something else.

02:49:57 - 02:50:00 | Speaker 2:

No, I said, if someone.

02:50:00 - 02:50:14 | Speaker 5:

If someone were to poop on your arm, right here, you're not going to wipe it away with toilet paper and feel like it's clean. You're going to go in the bathroom and you're going to wash your hands. And that's why you have to use wet wipe. Yeah, but the difference is you eat with your hands. You don't eat with your booty hole. I'm talking about right here. You don't eat right there.

02:50:15 - 02:50:15 | Speaker 3:

Well.

02:50:16 - 02:50:26 | Speaker 5:

You're still not going to feel clean. You're still not going to feel, don't argue with me. My booty hole doesn't touch my face. That part of my body can touch my face. But it's not clean if you're not using something that is damp.

02:50:26 - 02:50:41 | Speaker 4:

You gotta have something, Dan And this last story is wild A northern Michigan Kid Saved his sister With a Child's toy

02:50:41 - 02:50:42 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, I saw this, this is cool

02:50:42 - 02:50:54 | Speaker 4:

The kid ended up Saving his 8-year-old sister Who somebody tried to grab in their backyard By pulling out A child's toy slingshot To hit the guy with it

02:50:54 - 02:51:15 | Speaker 1:

You know, you wouldn't think in this world that if you were playing in your own backyard or on your own property that you would be concerned about something like this um but it just goes to show um that that there's evil out there and and it can find anybody anywhere and it did wednesday afternoon police say an

02:51:15 - 02:51:24 | Speaker 2:

eight-year-old girl in a rural area of alpena township just south of the city was hunting for mushrooms in her backyard when she felt someone grab her by the way don't make fun this is a

02:51:24 - 02:51:46 | Speaker 1:

small market television. We play this kid. The suspect had come through the woods onto her property and came from behind her, grabbed her like you'd see in the movies, hand over the mouth, arm around the waist, and was attempting to pull her into the woods. Grimshaw says that's when the

02:51:46 - 02:51:56 | Speaker 2:

girl's older brother, just 14 years old, saw something happening outside. He grabbed a slingshot and whatever ammunition he could find and fired two shots one to the head another to the chest

02:51:56 - 02:52:10 | Speaker 1:

of the alleged kidnapper and his sister was able to get away i mean he really is the one that um that saved that i believe saved his sister's either life or from something seriously bad

02:52:10 - 02:52:14 | Speaker 4:

happening the craziest is wait till you hear how they were able to catch this guy that did this

02:52:14 - 02:52:27 | Speaker 1:

which was pretty wild um you know for a 14 year old to see that and to pop into action that quickly is is extraordinary and he should be commended for it troopers say they found

02:52:27 - 02:52:32 | Speaker 2:

the suspect a 17 year old boy hiding in a gas station later that day I know it

02:52:32 - 02:52:53 | Speaker 1:

will sound probably somewhat funny the way it comes out but it's not meant to be that way but what he did also helped us to identify who the suspect was because obviously he had injuries from getting hit with a slingshot and those Those were things that helped us, evidentiary-wise, to identify who it was. Isn't that wild? Very valuable, too.

02:52:53 - 02:54:37 | Speaker 4:

Great job, man. Saved a sister. Should be one of those giving a key to the city. Kind of like, you know, it reminds me of the story of these amazing kids of that Warren Consolidated Schools kid that ended up, you know, saving the busload full of kids by when the bus driver passed out, going behind the wheel and shutting the bus down. All right, that does it for today. If you missed the War of the Roses this morning, you've got to go check that out. I mean, it got pretty heated. You'll hear that on our podcast. Also, can a business deny you from plugging in your phone to their plug while you're sitting there like having lunch? It happened to me. Talked about that early in the show. They ruined everything. Shannon talked about the household work that she was getting done at her house. and they completely, like, screwed everything up after they did it. Your poor neighbors are dealing with it right now. Megan says that Mike is riding dirty, illegally driving around. We talked about prom horror stories. We talked about Megan getting stuck in the car wash. And then we also had the death psychic in with us, the Rebecca Rosen in with us. Which, by the way, if you want more information about Rebecca, If you were listening this morning when she was reading and really making people emotional, you can go to RebeccaRosen.com and she's going to be tomorrow in West Bloomfield, Michigan at the Berman Center. You can go to RebeccaRosen.com and click on events. Have a great day. We will see you tomorrow. More Mojo podcast will happen today too. We'll post that later. 20 plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, and West Michigan.
