Mojo in the morning. So we went out for dinner last night with another couple that we just met And not that long ago, like a couple of months ago, our friends Bill and Tim introduced us to them. Really nice people, John and Rochelle. And they're one of those couples, they're dating each other, they're not married, and he's got like tats all over the place. I look at him and I go, God, why would you want to be out with me? You're such a man and you're out with me. You know what I mean? I say that all the time about Chelsea, too. Why would you want to be out with me? You want a man, then you're out with me. And Rochelle's beautiful. They're like a great-looking couple. It's unbelievable, nice people. So we're eating dinner at this Mexican place and having a really great conversation. And I will say this. It's interesting because most of my friends are longtime friends. Most of my friends are people that I've known forever. But I like meeting new friends because, no offense to my current friends, you guys are a little boring sometimes.

You've heard all the stories.

Actually, to be honest, yeah, I can't work the same shtick with them.

You've used all the stories on the radio already. You need new, fresh stories. Exactly. You know what I mean?

That's why I've often thought I've stayed in Detroit radio for too long. I should have moved to another market. They would have loved me in another market. But it's kind of like that with friendships. So we're sitting there, we're having a great conversation, and I'm really intrigued to know about them. So we're asking questions to them and stuff like that. And then at one point, they both got up and started, you know, walking away from the table. And I didn't understand what was going on. And I look over at Chelsea and I said, so what are they doing? She goes, oh, they're going to the bathroom. I said, you can't do that. She goes, what do you mean you can't do that? I said, you can't do that. Have they not heard that couples can't get up and go to the bathroom together? It just doesn't happen. you go to the bathroom in the same sex you know line or same friends line you don't go with your partner you're you know what i mean like i don't go with Chelsea to the bathroom. They don't go with each other to the bathroom. I should go with John and Rochelle should go with Chelsea. And that's how it works out.

In fact, it happened last night when we were out to dinner. Like I went and then Meg went because you don't want to break up the whole conversation of the table. So like only one of us leaves at a time because the other couple is telling stories and you don't want to be like, you're so boring. We're leaving.

Yeah. It kind of left Chelsea and I just kind of sitting there going, oh, do they like us? I don't know. like us what's going on like what's happening here and then they were gone for a good period of time and let me just say this to you I look at other couples sometimes and I look at you know how they are with each other and I see how good looking they are and I just assume that those couples bake cookies like all the time like I just automatically assume that John and Rochelle are like rabbits you know because and listen I'm not gonna lie I've been married and Chelsea and I've been married for a long time we we are very happy with each other but we don't rabbit it a lot you know there's not a lot of rabbit going on in that house but i'm thinking after they've been gone for a while either the mexican food was bothering them right or they are like fooling

around with each other so how long were they gone like five minutes ten minutes um i don't know the

exact time but it seemed like an eternity only because they went with each other and i was so i was so like dumbfounded by it i normally never ever see that happen i never see couples do that together so i assumed that it probably was only like a few minutes but to be honest with you it seemed like an eternity plus the restaurant went to we went to that mexican what's the mexican place there's a mexican place in birmingham that has like a name that doesn't even sound like a name like it's like it's like em or em is that it's oh really is that i think it's m m but i i look at it going that's a mex what is how does that a mexican name like it doesn't make any sense

shouldn't it be c i think it stands for employee meals employee meal okay well it makes no sense

on the name thing again it's another restaurant that they don't know how to name their restaurants i don't understand how they do it call it something that makes you think okay good i'm gonna go in there and get a burrito you know maybe all the good vibes are taken so let me go back to the the couples thing because i want to ask this this question have any couple have any people ever been out to dinner with a couple that did that where they left and then they were they left to go fool around because I don't know if those guys left to go fool around I'm assuming they didn't they they they both came back giggling and loving each other which is wonderful there that's why I say they're such a good couple you know did you ask they didn't look disheveled at all I actually

knowing you I did yeah there's no hesitation to ask I actually did even I even said something

about them going to the bathroom together at the same time and I said I just assumed you guys were going to you know to f you know in the bathroom and uh and john goes now if you went in that bathroom you're not gonna want to f in that one yeah so but um but it was it was wild mike when you and ally go out with each other and i know you guys have you know the kids but if you guys have a babysitter and you go out with another couple you don't ever get up and go with ally

to the bathroom right uh i'm not saying that i never have because i'm sure there's been a time where i have but i wouldn't say that i would intentionally because i would it would be awkward for the other couple but they would automatically assume that's what we were doing but you you have

uh i'm sure gone to the bathroom with the guy you know the dude that was there right i don't do that

either really no i just go by myself i'll just get up and go i love going with the other oh really

yeah because then you get a chance to like talk without everybody else hearing and she usually has better lip gloss than I do.

I don't want to use it. I know women do that all the time, but if I got up from the table and Mike said, yeah, I'll go to the bathroom with you, I would think that's weird because it's not typical for guys to pack up and go to the bathroom. There's not a lot of talking going on in the men's room.

Like, I thought, something happened. Did I say something offensive? Because we were having a great time, and then suddenly they had to go home. And I kept thinking, I must have put my foot in my mouth. Well, the next day, Meg found out what happened. They were being flirty, and she handed her panties to him under the table. That is gross. And that was it. Check, please. Like, he cut the date short to take.
