Mojo in the morning. So we went out for dinner last night with another couple that we just met And not that long ago, like a couple of months ago, our friends Bill and Tim introduced us to them. Really nice people, John and Rochelle. And they're one of those couples, they're dating each other, they're not married, and he's got like tats all over the place. I look at him and I go, God, why would you want to be out with me? You're such a man and you're out with me. You know what I mean? I say that all the time about Chelsea, too. Why would you want to be out with me? You want a man, then you're out with me. And Rochelle's beautiful. They're like a great-looking couple. It's unbelievable, nice people. So we're eating dinner at this Mexican place and having a really great conversation. And I will say this. It's interesting because most of my friends are longtime friends. Most of my friends are people that I've known forever. But I like meeting new friends because, no offense to my current friends, you guys are a little boring sometimes.

00:03:59 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 4:

You've heard all the stories.

00:04:00 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 3:

Actually, to be honest, yeah, I can't work the same shtick with them.

00:04:03 - 00:04:08 | Speaker 4:

You've used all the stories on the radio already. You need new, fresh stories. Exactly. You know what I mean?

00:04:08 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 3:

That's why I've often thought I've stayed in Detroit radio for too long. I should have moved to another market. They would have loved me in another market. But it's kind of like that with friendships. So we're sitting there, we're having a great conversation, and I'm really intrigued to know about them. So we're asking questions to them and stuff like that. And then at one point, they both got up and started, you know, walking away from the table. And I didn't understand what was going on. And I look over at Chelsea and I said, so what are they doing? She goes, oh, they're going to the bathroom. I said, you can't do that. She goes, what do you mean you can't do that? I said, you can't do that. Have they not heard that couples can't get up and go to the bathroom together? It just doesn't happen. you go to the bathroom in the same sex you know line or same friends line you don't go with your partner you're you know what i mean like i don't go with Chelsea to the bathroom. They don't go with each other to the bathroom. I should go with John and Rochelle should go with Chelsea. And that's how it works out.

00:05:07 - 00:05:23 | Speaker 1:

In fact, it happened last night when we were out to dinner. Like I went and then Meg went because you don't want to break up the whole conversation of the table. So like only one of us leaves at a time because the other couple is telling stories and you don't want to be like, you're so boring. We're leaving.

00:05:23 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. It kind of left Chelsea and I just kind of sitting there going, oh, do they like us? I don't know. like us what's going on like what's happening here and then they were gone for a good period of time and let me just say this to you I look at other couples sometimes and I look at you know how they are with each other and I see how good looking they are and I just assume that those couples bake cookies like all the time like I just automatically assume that John and Rochelle are like rabbits you know because and listen I'm not gonna lie I've been married and Chelsea and I've been married for a long time we we are very happy with each other but we don't rabbit it a lot you know there's not a lot of rabbit going on in that house but i'm thinking after they've been gone for a while either the mexican food was bothering them right or they are like fooling

00:06:09 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 5:

around with each other so how long were they gone like five minutes ten minutes um i don't know the

00:06:14 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 3:

exact time but it seemed like an eternity only because they went with each other and i was so i was so like dumbfounded by it i normally never ever see that happen i never see couples do that together so i assumed that it probably was only like a few minutes but to be honest with you it seemed like an eternity plus the restaurant went to we went to that mexican what's the mexican place there's a mexican place in birmingham that has like a name that doesn't even sound like a name like it's like it's like em or em is that it's oh really is that i think it's m m but i i look at it going that's a mex what is how does that a mexican name like it doesn't make any sense

00:06:53 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 5:

shouldn't it be c i think it stands for employee meals employee meal okay well it makes no sense

00:06:58 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 3:

on the name thing again it's another restaurant that they don't know how to name their restaurants i don't understand how they do it call it something that makes you think okay good i'm gonna go in there and get a burrito you know maybe all the good vibes are taken so let me go back to the the couples thing because i want to ask this this question have any couple have any people ever been out to dinner with a couple that did that where they left and then they were they left to go fool around because I don't know if those guys left to go fool around I'm assuming they didn't they they they both came back giggling and loving each other which is wonderful there that's why I say they're such a good couple you know did you ask they didn't look disheveled at all I actually

00:07:41 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 5:

knowing you I did yeah there's no hesitation to ask I actually did even I even said something

00:07:46 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 3:

about them going to the bathroom together at the same time and I said I just assumed you guys were going to you know to f you know in the bathroom and uh and john goes now if you went in that bathroom you're not gonna want to f in that one yeah so but um but it was it was wild mike when you and ally go out with each other and i know you guys have you know the kids but if you guys have a babysitter and you go out with another couple you don't ever get up and go with ally

00:08:11 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 2:

to the bathroom right uh i'm not saying that i never have because i'm sure there's been a time where i have but i wouldn't say that i would intentionally because i would it would be awkward for the other couple but they would automatically assume that's what we were doing but you you have

00:08:27 - 00:08:33 | Speaker 3:

uh i'm sure gone to the bathroom with the guy you know the dude that was there right i don't do that

00:08:33 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 2:

either really no i just go by myself i'll just get up and go i love going with the other oh really

00:08:38 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 5:

yeah because then you get a chance to like talk without everybody else hearing and she usually has better lip gloss than I do.

00:08:46 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

I don't want to use it. I know women do that all the time, but if I got up from the table and Mike said, yeah, I'll go to the bathroom with you, I would think that's weird because it's not typical for guys to pack up and go to the bathroom. There's not a lot of talking going on in the men's room.

00:08:59 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know. I talk.

00:09:02 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

I'm a little awkward.

00:09:03 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 4:

I talk while I'm peeing. Yeah.

00:09:05 - 00:09:06 | Speaker 3:

Like, that's me. Oh, I do too.

00:09:07 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 4:

I can't stand that. Sorry, I do it.

00:09:08 - 00:09:08 | Speaker 2:

I can't do it.

00:09:08 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 4:

I can't stand that. I love going to the bathroom with girls, But I think there should be, like, a rule that we all get silent when we pee and then we can start talking. No, because I don't want you to hear my pee. If there are liquids coming out of my body, I can't be talking. I can't do it.

00:09:23 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

Well, I told you guys this story. I don't think I told it on the air. I think I told it in the studio. But last weekend, we went out to dinner with a couple. And we were laughing up, having a good time. But then the date was cut short. And suddenly, she wasn't feeling well. He was going to drive her home. And it was obvious. Like, I thought, something happened. Did I say something offensive? Because we were having a great time, and then suddenly they had to go home. And I kept thinking, I must have put my foot in my mouth. Well, the next day, Meg found out what happened. They were being flirty, and she handed her panties to him under the table. That is gross. And that was it. Check, please. Like, he cut the date short to take.

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 5:

her home for some private time wow are they they're just dating each other that has to be a

00:10:04 - 00:10:10 | Speaker 3:

just dating they're like i think they're they've been dating a while they're not married yet but

00:10:10 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 5:

that's wild by the way if chelsea handed me her panties under the table no you know what i would do i would grab the panties and go why'd you hand me these i said i said i wanted the salsa no i would be so i wouldn't even i'd probably be so dumb that i wouldn't even have thought like why is you know why are they coming my way but well i wouldn't have i definitely wouldn't have

00:10:31 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 3:

gotten them go to the bathroom because i just think restaurant bathrooms are gross in general but also i wouldn't have left right away i think it would be a good tease but i would probably wait till the date was over till the other said goodbye to the other couple and then i mean they just

00:10:44 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 5:

split they were rushing home yeah i would do the same thing those people by the way that's that's a healthy relationship or they just didn't like the food too maybe it was like or us i'm not sure hello chels yeah i have to ask you a question okay okay about john and rochelle do you think that they got up to leave and pretended like they were going to the bathroom and they went and like fooled around for a little bit what do you think that the story was with that no

00:11:10 - 00:11:32 | Speaker 4:

she said to me i have to go to the bathroom and i said okay and then no no i'm sorry john said he had to go to the bathroom first and he was kind of she was blocking the way to get out and she said you know what i'm gonna go to the bathroom too while he's up because she just recently had surgery anyway okay yeah oh so that makes sense to me question they went why don't you and i ever

00:11:32 - 00:11:35 | Speaker 5:

go to the bathroom together like it would be so romantic for us to go to the bathroom

00:11:35 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 4:

what no i don't even understand where you're going with this i was wondering like couples

00:11:42 - 00:11:45 | Speaker 5:

that go to the bathroom together i find it very odd but maybe you and i should do that

00:11:45 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 4:

like to go to the bathroom together no have you heard yourself in the bathroom

00:11:55 - 00:12:05 | Speaker 5:

all right uh by the way uh nice couple huh isn't it nice to have new friends don't you like our

00:12:05 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 4:

new friends all your old friends are feeling so offended right now no i like all of our friends

00:12:10 - 00:12:19 | Speaker 5:

yes they are great but yes i like it's not but it's nice to go out with isn't it nice to go out with people that we don't really know a lot about, so we got to ask a lot of questions and stuff.

00:12:20 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 4:

Yes. It's very nice, and you get to go out with new people tonight, too. That's right.

00:12:25 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 5:

We're going out tonight. We got another couple that we're going to be going out with tonight, so that will be fun. You think they'll go to the bathroom together at the same time?

00:12:33 - 00:12:34 | Speaker 4:

I don't know.

00:12:35 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 5:

I'm going to find out what's going on.

00:12:37 - 00:12:41 | Speaker 4:

Weird, but when we go out on Saturday night, who will Steve go to the bathroom with?

00:12:41 - 00:13:03 | Speaker 5:

Oh, that's right. We got our group, the group of people. remember i told you the story about how we have the the group of people that go out and they do the credit card roulette yeah yeah tomorrow steve's gonna get stiffed again with another meal actually steve's got to bring a date we got to tell him that he has to bring a date with him he talked megan you should come seriously megan steve invite megan it'll be fun to hang out with

00:13:03 - 00:13:07 | Speaker 3:

hang on ask questions megan are you going to be part of this credit card roulette first oh wait

00:13:07 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 6:

yeah i my credit score says that's not a participation game we're gonna know megan

00:13:13 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 5:

here's the story forget about that you and i will go to the bathroom together that will be weird but i'm weirdly busy tomorrow i'll talk to you later chelis i love you uh what's going on jamie

00:13:24 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 6:

yeah hey okay so here's my thing so what do you do if like you're out with a bunch of friends you're like at a whole group party and your stomach just the food isn't hitting right and everybody's like okay we'll go to the bathroom and you're like oh no okay that has happened to

00:13:40 - 00:13:46 | Speaker 4:

before it's the worst it's like you have to poop and you don't want people that you know to be in

00:13:46 - 00:13:56 | Speaker 5:

there when you're pooping yeah that is the worst and there's always an amount of time too where you hit where you're like oh they know there's no way they don't know mexican restaurant it's

00:13:56 - 00:13:59 | Speaker 6:

gonna be like that scene with most mccarthy i'm the girl in the back

00:13:59 - 00:14:23 | Speaker 2:

what's happening nick hi so i'm just calling because i was talking about like people going to the bathroom and stuff so when i go when i'm out like having a couple drinks i'll go into the bathroom and i'll pick the middle urinal on purpose and then i stare directly at the wall in front of me if there's somebody next to me and i just say hey nice watch i don't look at him at

00:14:23 - 00:14:29 | Speaker 5:

all nice watch oh my god that's creepy that is kind of creepy but it's fun i'm gonna try that

00:14:29 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 1:

tonight what's going on sam oh just i got to thinking when you were talking about the gail handing her panties to her man under the table.

00:14:37 - 00:14:37 | Speaker 5:

Spike's friends, yeah.

00:14:38 - 00:14:43 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, what would happen if, say, Spike were to hand his underwear to his wife?

00:14:46 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 3:

Here's my boxers.

00:14:48 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 5:

I actually was thinking about the whole thing of them using that as that's the reason why they left. That's a great excuse to use if your stomach was blowing up and you had, like, diarrhea.

00:15:00 - 00:15:26 | Speaker 3:

sounds better than saying i had to go home i had massive diarrhea say i handed the the underwear to each other you know what i mean like i right i'm gonna use that as an excuse the next time that i have to cut like a meal short because my stomach's bothering me i just can't imagine what chelsea would do if your underwear was in her hands by the way it wouldn't be just in her hands it would be in her hands on her legs it's a big pair of underwear sam you guys have a great day Bye.
