Mojo in the morning show. This is kind of interesting. We were having a conversation. Kev was talking about how there's something that he took with him from his last relationship. Yeah. That he's, I don't know, it seems like regretting that he took with because it's not treating you right.

00:01:46 - 00:02:41 | Speaker 3:

Not at all. And I feel like this is something that maybe couples who have been divorced or separated, even down to like you have a roommate and they move out and they leave something behind and now you're forced to keep it and maintain it or use it. And for me, in my situation, it's my damn bed. Oh, no. This is the thing that I have to sleep on every single night. And now that it's good, you know, like when you sleep in a bed, oftentimes if you have a spouse or whatever, you have your side. So for the longest, I've slept on my side. And now it's kind of to the point where I can see my dent and I don't want that. So I'm kind of like, you know, trying to move around a little bit. Have you tried the other side? I have tried the other side. Is it weird? You can't do it. It's much more firmer, I'll say. It's much more firmer. But when it's hot outside, I tend to like it. Now I'm laying sideways. You're just trying to find ways to get comfortable. And it's gotten to the point where as soon as I lay down, I'm like, my bad.

00:02:41 - 00:02:43 | Speaker 4:

Is this a bed that you bought with your ex?

00:02:43 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 3:

Yes. Really? So we had a bed at first, and then that bed was way too firm. So we went back to get another bed. And it was kind of one of those things where it was like, okay, I don't really care. And I don't know why I took that position of just like, yeah, you lay down really quick. It's hard to test a bit. Like, if you go in the store, you lay down for like five seconds. And then it's like, yeah, this feels good. You don't realize you're about to live on this thing for however many years.

00:03:09 - 00:03:48 | Speaker 4:

It's funny. I don't know if that's a guy thing, but that's how I felt, too. When we picked out beds and mattresses and stuff like that, I would always just be like, you know, whatever. I don't really care. And then after a while, I'm like, I do care. Because we had one of those memory mattresses at one point. And it sucked. Like, I felt like it never remembered that I didn't. Actually, the only thing I remembered was how bad a sleep I had the night before. But it's interesting that you took the bed. Why did you take the bed if it was the other bed you would have been fine with? It was in my name. Oh, yeah. You mean why not take it with me? Yeah, well, yeah, that. So your name was the name financed on that bed.

00:03:48 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 3:

So I'm like, I need to make sure I'm making these payments and stuff. And then, you know, why not keep a bed when you have to get a new one? But now I'm stuck with it, a bed I don't like. And I don't think you can just trade in beds or exchange them. So I'm stuck with this thing. Get a new one. I'm serious.

00:04:03 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 4:

The funny thing with going through breakups is going through breakups, you fight for things, right? You usually fight for things. And then there's things that you don't fight for. You almost have to wonder why the other person doesn't fight for it. Is it because they want you to have a bad bed? And listen, I don't think Sherelle's that type of a girl that wanted you to have a bad bed. But Sherelle, I love you.

00:04:27 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 5:

She's probably sleeping on like the fluffiest, most comfy mattress ever.

00:04:32 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 3:

You're going to think of me every night when you lay down.

00:04:35 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 4:

By the way, is it weird for you to switch sides of the bed? Because Shannon was talking about the switching sides of the bed. i always feel like i even if i go to a hotel i have to still sleep on the same side of the bed

00:04:47 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 3:

it's i don't know you talk about memory foam i think it's just our memory like we have this physical memory of what makes us feel comfortable yeah and laying on that side of the bed is what

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 4:

does it yeah do you uh so uh wow this is wild

00:05:00 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 3:

I'd love to know what people, what is it that you have from your ex or your past relationship that now you're regretting that you have? Because I see people that will fight for animals and things. And then I'm thinking, are you really happy that you got the dog or whatever or the cat?

00:05:15 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 5:

I feel like I got left with a whole bunch of just rando junk after my ex-husband moved out because I stayed in the house that we shared. And so even today, like even when Wes was moving in and this was kind of uncomfortable, I was trying to think of a word. We were like cleaning out the garage and he's like, what are all these tools? Like this toolbox, the bench, I was like, oh, see, like it got left here.

00:05:42 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 3:

You should have said it was your dad's.

00:05:44 - 00:05:59 | Speaker 5:

Well, it had his name written on everything. I'm like, I don't know why he didn't take it. That's fancy. Yeah, and then I asked him, I'm like, do you want to come get this stuff? Like, you left all the stuff, and he's like, no. I'm like, so basically you left it so that I had to figure out how to get rid of it.

00:06:00 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

Amanda, what's up? You wanted to say something to Kev?

00:06:03 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 2:

Hi, good morning. I just have a few questions about this mattress. Is it with a built-in pillow top on it?

00:06:10 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 4:

No, no pillow top, straight mattress.

00:06:12 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh, but have you flipped your mattress yet? No, it's not even a year old, I'd say. You could also rotate it. You could, like, rotate it so that the dent would be not, like, the other end of the bed.

00:06:22 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 5:

I feel like the... I'm sending you to snooze. I, honest to God, don't want this to be an ad, but you need to go there. The place that I snooze mattress in, Troy. Talk to Angel. I don't know, but... He's still paying on that bed, though. That place is a million percent legit. It's not normal. It's not like a normal mattress store.

00:06:38 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 3:

Do you ever have it where you trade in a car and you have no equity in the car and you're still paying on the car? You know what I mean? I think you're doing that, too, aren't you? I'm sorry, Amanda. Flip the mattress. I think you're my, but no, it's true though. It's like, go to a place. If you go to a place that specializes in the mattresses, you'll always get a better.

00:06:54 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 5:

So you're not just going to lay down on a bunch of mattresses. They'll actually like mattress. There's science to it.

00:06:58 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 3:

Angie, hi. It's Mojo in the morning. What's up?

00:07:01 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 1:

Hi, good morning, guys. I was just going to call in to tell you guys that, Kevin, go get a whole new set.

00:07:08 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:07:08 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 1:

Get rid of the whole bed. You know, the 4th of July is coming up. There's a bunch of stuff going on.

00:07:14 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Isn't that funny? Why is it that they Come on down It's Art Vans 4th of July sale I did have to get a new bed

00:07:27 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 5:

That was one thing I couldn't keep

00:07:28 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

The bed

00:07:29 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Like the actual bed frame I went on Wayfair You know what I mean

00:07:35 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 3:

Could you as a guy Because Wes moved in to your place He asked Like as a guy I don't know If I knew that you were in that bed, although I'd probably go, what kind of sex life did you guys have in your last relationship? And if you had a, you know, I'd be like, I'm going to show you this bed.

00:07:52 - 00:08:01 | Speaker 5:

I had already gotten a new bed frame and bed and everything, but Wes, that was a question he asked and I thought a very legit question.

00:08:01 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 4:

I've never thought about that and no other person that I've been with has asked about it.

00:08:06 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 3:

We, I talked about this on our show, but I also talked about it on our We Don't podcast one time when chelsea and i were at our worst where we literally were just seconds away from getting a divorce uh she was out in arizona visiting family and when she left i went and got a new mattress and i did that as my i'm putting my foot down moment and i went and i go in there i go what's the most expensive mattress you have there i walked into the macy's at novi uh 12 oaks mall and they had like a mattress area there and they go it's the uh like the premier hotel collection one and i'm like i want it i'm gonna get it it's the worst mattress and i got it and then chelsea and i brought our relationship back to you know being nice to each other and everybody loving each other and she hated that mattress for the longest time uh we ended up getting another mattress yeah so we ended up i think honestly i think that mattress is might be in my son joe's house i think he's got the premier collection mattress from there A lot of people are texting in, but they're not calling. Somebody said here right now, I got my wife's stupid plant. I took it just because that was the only thing she cared about, not even me. Spifle. I love the people that will take things. What did you get? So what was the thing that you got that was theirs that now you're looking back on and you regret? Memberships is an interesting one. Somebody said here, I took the membership. I don't know what the membership is, too.

00:09:30 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 4:

I wonder if they need a gym or streaming services, maybe.

00:09:33 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's actually a good one, too. Text is 95500, but I want you to call because I've literally got six or seven open lines right now. And I want to make sure that you're there. I like this one. They said, how big was that mattress, Mojo? Okay.

00:09:52 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 5:

It's this big.

00:09:53 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

It was. Those were, by the way, the best. What's up, Dana? How you doing, buddy? Hey, great. Hey, awesome.

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 2:

So I was at Gardner White. We needed a new mattress. I was at Gardner White, and they had a $30,000 bed.

00:10:08 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 1:

What?

00:10:09 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 2:

This thing was the most comfortable, nicest thing. It was made from Himalayan goat hair. Of course. It was the belly. They only used the belly hair because that was the softest. Really? So then he takes us out of that bed, and I'm like, 30? He goes, how much? And I go, I don't know, maybe $4,000, $5,000. He's like, oh, no, this is $30,000. $30,000.

00:10:36 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 9:

So the $4,000 one was made of little children. Oh, my God. That girl hair is expensive. By the way, a $30,000 mattress, those goats better be sleeping with me or something inside there. Man, that's crazy.

00:10:53 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 2:

And then the other thing, he sets us down in a $5,000 mattress, and we bought it. We're like, hey, it feels the same to me. Really?

00:11:01 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 9:

So it was the same difference as the goat mattress, huh?

00:11:04 - 00:11:11 | Speaker 2:

Well, I mean, I don't know. I like it, but it's the most I've ever spent for a damn mattress. That's for sure.

00:11:11 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 9:

Absolutely. All right. Well, thanks, buddy. I appreciate you. What's up, Tara? How you doing?

00:11:17 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 4:

I'm good. How are you?

00:11:19 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 9:

Good. What's up?

00:11:21 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 4:

So I definitely agree. Like, if I get out of a relationship, I get rid of that mattress. Like, I haven't even been married. and I don't want anything to do with the mattress. And I feel like it is, like, if I talk to a guy, I feel like I ask that question, like, are we about to keep the mattress that you were with somebody else then? Because it's like, yo.

00:11:43 - 00:11:52 | Speaker 9:

Yeah, burn that bed. Why? Just buy some loose sheets. It's still got their DNA all over that thing. You know, I don't know if you want. Buy some loose sheets. What's up, Garbage Man Steve?

00:11:55 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 8:

Hey, what's up, guys? Morning, morning. What's going on? You got to check if there's a warranty on it or something. You know, you got to check if you've got a warranty, take it back. Be like, hey, man, or turn the mattress. No, the warranty.

00:12:09 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 9:

The warranty, do you? Yeah, it's only been a year, you said? I think so, yeah. Really? You got to check that. Maybe two. If it's got a dent of your ass in there, I think I would take it back. What's up, Mindy? Hi.

00:12:21 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 3:

Hi, good morning, everybody. Good morning, Mindy. I was a fool. I actually only took a sweater and left the engagement ring.

00:12:30 - 00:12:32 | Speaker 9:

Oh, that's, no, you should have taken that with. You earned that.

00:12:33 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 3:

Well, it was his mom that passed. It was her main daughter. Oh, no, you got to leave that. But he did get remarried, and his new wife doesn't like his sister and the nephews, so I got them instead. Oh, that's actually good.

00:12:49 - 00:12:54 | Speaker 9:

I always think it's funny when you end up being friends still with the family afterwards. What's up, Danielle?

00:12:54 - 00:13:04 | Speaker 7:

hi hi what did what did you take uh i took the surround sound system that he was still paying

00:13:04 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 9:

two thousand dollars on you were evil so he's now watching his tv with no surround sound

00:13:09 - 00:13:19 | Speaker 7:

well i mean when you keep for a year uh you know payback yeah payback's a bitch i'm sorry

00:13:19 - 00:13:24 | Speaker 9:

Excuse me. Can I hear that? I can't hear that louder now. Delaina. What's up, Delaina?

00:13:25 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 5:

Hi. My husband or ex-husband took my season football tickets the first year. What? In our divorce.

00:13:33 - 00:13:36 | Speaker 9:

Wait. What are we talking about? What team?

00:13:37 - 00:13:38 | Speaker 5:

Michigan.

00:13:38 - 00:13:43 | Speaker 9:

Wow. So he got the Wolverines tickets. Are you still paying on them?

00:13:43 - 00:14:07 | Speaker 5:

Yes. So they're in my family. um season football ticket holders for over 66 years they're on the 50 yard line yeah they were my dad and in the divorce so i had two sets and the other set were over like in the end zone and so i had to give up my for that year i had to give up my 50 yard line seats yeah just so that i

00:14:07 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 9:

could get divorced yeah that's unreal that's crazy though that he would do that and take him out of your parents family name yeah family thing did y'all share like a tailgate spot by the way can you give him my name and i'd like to see uh brie what did you do

00:14:24 - 00:14:36 | Speaker 6:

good morning morning so i i i actually didn't take anything and regret it but i gave him all of my stuff and i regret that because i gave him all my stuff and then he left all the bills

00:14:36 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 9:

in my name to pay oh my god wait what was the one thing that you wish you would have taken smart

00:14:40 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 6:

oh mostly just furniture that i gave him and the we had three snakes together and i let him keep one and then he ended up selling it to a friend so i wish i kept that you guys were kinky weren't

00:14:52 - 00:14:58 | Speaker 9:

you yeah freakies oh yeah we'll call it that people with snakes man i'm telling you i agree

00:15:00 - 00:15:03 | Speaker 4:

Michelle, you got everything in the house. Is that right?

00:15:05 - 00:15:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes, I did. I got everything in the house, including a select comfort bed that I love, but I found out that my ex-husband and his now wife slept in it all the time when I wasn't home. You've got to get rid of that. He'd go camping. He'd go home to work. And, yeah. Yeah, so I didn't have a bed for the first two months after our divorce, and I slept in a Lazy Boy chair.

00:15:33 - 00:15:34 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man.

00:15:34 - 00:15:39 | Speaker 3:

I'll be dang if that sucker was even coming in my house. Good for you. Get it out of there.

00:15:40 - 00:15:45 | Speaker 4:

Sometimes sleeping in a Lazy Boy is more comfortable anyway. Well, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.

00:15:45 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and I got rid of all the other furniture, too.

00:15:48 - 00:15:52 | Speaker 4:

They slept on that, too? They were kinky.

00:15:52 - 00:15:53 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:15:53 - 00:15:54 | Speaker 4:

Did they own a snake?

00:15:54 - 00:16:23 | Speaker 2:
