00:03:38 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 4:

this woman is good well let's put it this way she's a kentucky mom because she lives in paduca kentucky yeah which is funny because i've always heard the name paduca like the city paduca but I've never known anybody from Paducah, Kentucky. All right. It's Mojo in the Morning show. Actually, before I get to that, I used to have a program director that used to tell me back when I was first starting off that you couldn't even work in Paducah. And I did not even know where Paducah was. And I couldn't spell it to be able to figure out how to look it up. But I figured out.

00:04:11 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 3:

Your life has come full circle.

00:04:12 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 4:

I could not even. And guess what? After this five lies, I could work in Paducah. So get ready for that. mojo in the morning show so yesterday on our show mike was discussing getting a brand new mattress like a big kid like a big kid he's moving up in the world he's getting he's now he now has adult furniture and um something very embarrassing happened to him as the delivery of his mattress

00:04:37 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 3:

came so i didn't first off i didn't know they delivered mattresses and then took the mattress from your house that's how much i've not ordered adult furniture i didn't even know that was a

00:04:48 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 4:

thing so that was cool that they did that isn't that nice that you don't have to put it out at

00:04:51 - 00:05:26 | Speaker 3:

the corner or find somebody to take it yeah i had no idea that was an actual thing until they came and they're like yeah we that's part of the charge or whatever and i was like that's the greatest and so they they come in and we ended up cleaning up the the room or whatever uh because we knew they were going to bring in a mattress so we didn't want to look like slobs and so they start like removing the we remove the sheets but then they remove the mattress and i forgot that ali and i at one point put one of those you know those bed restraints that you put in between the mattress and then it comes around it's like little handcuffs around

00:05:26 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 1:

Wait, you have one of those?

00:05:32 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 3:

Yes, we do.

00:05:34 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 1:

I feel like we've talked about this on the show before, and you've never admitted that.

00:05:38 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, we do. But we don't.

00:05:41 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 1:

Oh, oh, oh, my God.

00:05:44 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

But we don't. We clearly don't use them that often. I would have remembered they were there. Like, I forgot. Oh, no. The mattress guy saw it. Yeah, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. so he removes the mattress and it's spread across the box spring and then the two little like restraint things fall to the sides and i go and she goes and she looks at it and you can't run and remove this thing it's like a it's huge it wraps around the inside of the mattress and i'm like ah there it is like i've been looking for it and the guys start laughing and Allie's face turns bright red and goes over, walks over, grabs. She was very embarrassed at that moment.

00:06:24 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I would be too. Wait until she finds out you just told three million listeners.

00:06:33 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah, daddy. By the way, that is hysterically funny. And when you were telling that story, all I kept thinking of was, I bet you that delivery drivers see some very interesting things. Or, you know who else? um cable guys for some reason i think about this i think about the xfinity guy because whenever the xfinity uh people have ever had to be at my house to do anything i always have to clean things up in my house that i don't want them to see and i can only imagine that they probably walk into some very interesting situations if they're fixing the television in the bedroom you know

00:07:09 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:07:11 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 2:

844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Any of our listeners ever had this happen to them where they were embarrassed? They had somebody, you know, see their kinky stuff? And who was that person? And if you're somebody that has to go into homes and do, like, the pickup of a mattress and delivery of a mattress, I want to know what you saw. Oh, my God. I remember we had a mattress delivered to our house, a brand-new mattress delivered to our house, and they took off the old mattress, and underneath was dust and dirtiness.

00:07:44 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, because you don't think about cleaning in there either.

00:07:48 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 4:

You forget what color the carpet looked like until you move to bed, and you see the one square of clean carpet.

00:07:53 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea was mortified. She felt so bad that the poor delivery guy actually saw that. How was the new mattress? How was the first night on the brand-new mattress?

00:08:05 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 3:

Well, we used the handcuffs, so that was it. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. No, it's amazing. Oh, my God, it's amazing. Is it? Yes, because I'm so used to getting into a bed that literally goes, because the box spring is so old. Yeah. And it's like memory foam, too, which I've never had before. Oh, wow. Yeah, you lay in it, and it melts to your body, and we got all those adjustable things. And I think the real reason we ended up doing it is because Allie's pregnant right now. So laying on our old mattress was just not – it was like a taco, but it was like a sideways taco. It folded in, so we would literally be uncomfortable the whole time. This was amazing.

00:08:44 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 2:

Can I say something about those memory foam things? So I stayed at my sister's house. My sister had a memory foam bed that we slept on, Chelsea and I did. It's very difficult to move around in sometimes.

00:09:00 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I don't like them. And they're horrible for sex.

00:09:03 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 2:

We did not have sex because of, well, we were at my sister's house and that wasn't going to happen. But I could see where it would be very difficult for moving around. Have you ever tried to have sex on a memory foam mattress? Yeah, they're not good. No, I'm talking to Spike here.

00:09:17 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 4:

There's no pushback. There's no spring back. So you sink in. It's just not good to get any rhythm going or anything. You just can't.

00:09:24 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 1:

I don't think that's going to stop, Mike.

00:09:27 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Actually, at this point right now, you've already had sex. That's what you're trying to do right now. You're trying to keep your wife comforted.

00:09:33 - 00:09:34 | Speaker 1:

Right, right.

00:09:34 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 2:

I always wondered how people had sex on waterbeds. Remember waterbeds back in the day?

00:09:38 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 1:

My Aunt Kathy had one, and we loved it as kids. But I think about that now. First of all, I would get so sick. I would get so, like, nauseous sleeping on a waterbed. But how did you have sex on one of those things?

00:09:49 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 2:

I had to roll off of waterbeds. Like, when I would sleep in a waterbed, I would have to roll to get completely out of the thing.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

How was that a thing?

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 2:

It was difficult.

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 3:

It's very, very difficult. Mojo in the morning. Hold on. Ryan, are you there? Yep. Ryan, what happened?

00:10:10 - 00:10:20 | Speaker 5:

I used to work for a moving company, and while we were moving this lady's dresser, all of a sudden we just heard buzzing coming from inside of the dresser, and it was clearly a vibrator.

00:10:20 - 00:10:22 | Speaker 7:

Oh, God. Oh, God.

00:10:22 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 5:

Nothing she could do to get to it. So, you know, we just had to keep on moving it while it was buzzing, And it was ridiculous

00:10:30 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 3:

What was the face like Describe what her face looked like When this happened

00:10:37 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 5:

She was just like She had to leave the situation

00:10:42 - 00:10:44 | Speaker 3:

The oh spit look on her face

00:10:44 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 5:

Do you start humming Very much so

00:10:47 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 3:

Do you start humming at that point Or trying to make a noise

00:10:49 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 2:

Somebody's cell phone ringing That's awesome

00:10:56 - 00:11:03 | Speaker 3:

What's up Jackie How you doing good how you doing oh my god hold on i thought that was one there in the background

00:11:03 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 6:

my girlfriend's uh sister came over to stay for the weekend and i didn't think anything about it she stayed in the bedroom and i was walking in the bedroom later in the morning and i was like uh wait a minute and they still have the shibari book and our ropes were hanging on the wall still

00:11:23 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 3:

oh my god though it's it's funny when uh you know you don't i guess we want to know that people have sex in healthier relationships but we don't know want to know about people tying themselves up and

00:11:38 - 00:11:42 | Speaker 6:

things like that right exactly you don't want your little sister knowing about it either yeah that's

00:11:42 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 3:

probably uh definitely something that you don't want to share there so that everybody's got a thing and you don't necessarily want everybody to know your thing that or the delivery guy from the bed company same thing right yeah have a great morning jackie yeah you too take care of yourself go back to water beds for a second does anybody still have a water bed is there any listener of ours that still sleeps in a water bed i don't even know if they're still around anymore i don't know

00:12:10 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 2:

you had one megan no i said i i still want one do you really yeah oh god yeah have you ever slept on one uh yeah one of my friends um their parents had one growing up and i think like you guys said all little kids jump into them and i just i've been fascinated with them ever since i was little

00:12:27 - 00:12:40 | Speaker 3:

it's interesting megan i don't think it's as comfortable though as you think it is like i think like i think it's it's it's weird when you're moving around like you know you almost kind of need to have uh what is it what's the anti-nausea medication you take if you go on a

00:12:40 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, but, like, I slept on my couch last night, so the bar is low.

00:12:47 - 00:12:51 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I'm sorry. Couch sleeping is sometimes the best sleep you can get.

00:12:51 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

I woke up this morning, and I cannot believe that I actually woke up.

00:12:56 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 3:

Here's what I want to know, and somebody needs to ask Rachel over at Garner White this.

00:13:01 - 00:13:01 | Speaker 2:

Okay.

00:13:01 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 3:

Why doesn't somebody make a couch bed? And what I mean by that is...

00:13:05 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 2:

It's a cheese.

00:13:06 - 00:13:15 | Speaker 3:

I know, but it's not necessarily good. And I know they have beds that pull out of couches. Why don't they have a couch that pulls out of a bed?

00:13:15 - 00:13:22 | Speaker 2:

That's what I almost did in my living room. I almost put a day bed in my living room as a couch. Did you?

00:13:22 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 8:

Almost, almost, almost. So Wes has the most comfortable couch in the world. Actually, truly, it is from Gardner White. And it's like a sectional. It's so soft. Yeah. But then it has one of those humongous ottomans that matches it exactly, and it's the same fabric. So a lot of times if we're watching a movie, we'll push the ottoman into the corner. Genius. And then it's the same length as the side of the couch. So it's like having a queen bed right there.

00:13:49 - 00:13:51 | Speaker 3:

I'm telling you. We always sleep right there. I love that.

00:13:51 - 00:13:57 | Speaker 1:

It's a couch bed. It also shows you how much we're overpaying for mattresses when an ottoman is just as comfortable.

00:13:58 - 00:14:24 | Speaker 3:

I don't know. For some reason, I always get a good sleep. Like, I yesterday was lecturing KP on, don't take naps. Get to bed early. Because yesterday she came in, and I could tell she was up late, and she seemed a little kind of groggy. And I fell asleep on my couch yesterday, KP, and took a nap after I told you I'd never take naps. I felt like such an a-hole for doing that. What's going on, George?

00:14:25 - 00:14:45 | Speaker 4:

I was laughing about the waterbeds. My ex-wife and I had one, and it was always the hard time because she always would turn the temperature up to get it real hot, and I liked it cooler. So eventually I'd catch her when she wasn't there. I would pull the knob off after I set it to my temperature and put it back on so that it read her temperature. Never had that problem anymore.

00:14:46 - 00:14:48 | Speaker 8:

I did not know that you could heat them up. Yeah.

00:14:49 - 00:14:52 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. And I like to get into the bed where it's cool.

00:14:53 - 00:14:53 | Speaker 7:

Yeah.

00:14:53 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

And she always liked it hot, and I said, I'm not doing that. So I turned it down real low, got it cool, pulled the knob off, put it back on.

00:15:00 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 2:

It looked like it was at the high temperature. I never bothered it again. I wonder if you could heat them up too much where it could break and melt or something. I hated that bed. Yeah, I know. It's the worst. It's the worst. Tell me that you can get out of that bed without having to roll. I couldn't. I can't do it. I have to do one, two, three, like trying to get out of the damn thing.

00:15:19 - 00:15:23 | Speaker 4:

Even the waveless, it's the same thing. You got to roll over the wood side.

00:15:24 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:15:24 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 4:

It's a pain.

00:15:25 - 00:15:27 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a pain. Thank you for the call. Take care, George.

00:15:27 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 4:
