Came back in town yesterday. I saw my flight got delayed and then I came back in town last night. I actually had a wild situation happen to me, or not situation. I had a, I fell asleep on the plane. I can fall asleep anywhere. I don't understand how you can stay up on a plane.

I'm asleep before we even do take off.

Wheels. Every time. Wheels are still on the ground. Same with me, Shannon, and I am snoring and spitting and slobbering and doing all kinds of stuff.

My family said I am the worst, and friends, I'm the worst person to travel with because

i am no fun yeah yeah you definitely don't i don't even get snacks at the snack place nothing like i don't even you know carry anything on i go to the bathroom before i go on there i go to the bathroom when i go off there do you tell someone wake me up when they start bringing the snacks though uh no i've never done that i've never well i've never done that i just ask them to grab something for me and actually i have had times where i haven't fallen asleep and the guy next to me is sleeping and I'll say, hey, can I grab something for him? And I'll grab it and I'll eat it myself. Thinking it's the makeup for the lost time that I lost when I was sleeping on it. There's nothing worse than missing the snacks, though. Oh, yeah. Well, and we talked yesterday, the snacks are not great on an airplane, but the idea that you get something to eat. I will say this, Vegas flights back home from Vegas, I don't think I have ever stayed up on a Vegas flight back home from Vegas.

I catch up on my lost sleep from, you know. But I had a weird thing happen to me. And I called Shannon last night to tell her this because I, to me, it really touched me. And Shannon and I shared an agent by the name of Norm. We've talked about him numerous times on the show. Norm passed away back in 2020. um and when when norm died norm was in his 90s like he was i think he was i don't know how old he was norm would be pissed that i don't know his age he would want me to know the exact date that

he died i don't want to make him seem anyway he was around 90 yeah i think you're right he and he

died i know i think he died in august i'm almost positive because he died very similar to the time that my mom had passed yeah well norm was a huge influence on mine shannon's life uh and a lot of people's lives that he represented the guy was amazing he was a father figure to all of us he could in one word get you to stand in line and that was he would go mojo or he called he called her murph i knew i was in so much trouble

and he would just say and you knew at that moment you did something wrong you said you agreed to do something with the company that you shouldn't have agreed to do right yeah because he was your negotiator he was your your guy so i fell asleep on the plane and i had a dream that norm came to me and talked to me in his dream it was actually actually i was at norm's house in in uh or uh in atlanta his his hometown i was at a bar that we used to hang out at all the time sitting at the bar norm loved to belly up to the bar and um he was telling me that i needed to tell shannon that she's gotta he basically kept saying you gotta tell her to be tougher and she's got and he was doing he kind of sounded like uh the guy from rocky uh mick come on yeah you know he sounded he would be like you gotta tell her that she's gotta you know she's gotta be tougher she's gotta And she's got to just, you know, don't care what other people think and blah, blah, blah, blah. He was basically telling me that I had to tell Shannon this, which is something that he would do.

I was going to ask, did you have those conversations with him?

And the crazy thing is, and I told Mojo this last night, he was always kind of my, like, recalibrate. Like, if I felt like I needed that, he, like, it was like an intuition thing that he would call me and set me straight. And I, um, there are a couple of things happening in my life, like work-wise and just life-wise that, man, I could have used that phone call from him. And also I just read, and if you have not read this book yet, please listen to it or read it. It's called The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, but that's what it's about. It is about like not, not letting other people's opinion of you shake you basically. Um, which is something that I've struggled with my entire life. And so I had that, like I had just finished reading that and I was like, oh, this is like, it's like, she's my new norm. But to hear, to hear, I, when I believe when somebody comes to you in a dream with a message like that, and I'm so happy you called me, like, I don't really believe that that's not just, just a dream.

Not at all.

Well, here's the coinkydink part or the part that's so wild. I wake up from sleeping on the airplane and the lady next to me goes, you were kind of mumbling during the thing, which is wild. them thinking oh my god what the hell was i right yeah what what was i doing was i saying something i shouldn't have said um because norm and i would have very in-depth conversations and when we would do it i would swear back at him and he would swear at me like we would like that we had that kind of relationship like a really good relationship like that i got a text message from johnny dare from uh kansas city he's a number one morning guy in kansas city he's also like my brother Actually, he is my brother, not like my brother. And Norm and I were sons to him. Norm used to tell us all the time, you were the sons I never had. And it was a text message from Johnny saying, this past weekend is the weekend that we would always go to Vegas with Norm. Because we did. Every year we went to Vegas for the NFC, AFC championship weekend. And he said, all I thought about all weekend was you. Wow. How weird is that? Yeah. So it was, it was just such a weird situation to be able to have this dream and have Norm talk to me in, in his dream, him passing messages along, which was awesome. He actually was, he said he was so proud of the show because the shows, you know, reached some great heights. And he said, and it's funny too, because there are times he used to call me and not be proud of the show. There was a person that used to work on the show a while back. And I won't say their name because I just don't want it to become, he hated this person. and he would always go, I listen to the show, and she sounds horrible. And I would be like, why are you doing – and he would get so crazy. What are you thinking? That was how Norm would be all the time. But he would tell me things about the show, but he said, I love – he goes, I love the show. I love how everything's sounding. I love how happy you are. I love that you're, you know, number one. I love everything. I see dead people. You did not just do that. So, Norm, I love you, and I want you to know this, that we're making you proud here, and I passed your words along to Shannon. She's got to remember that. Maybe it's, you know, we have to type those words up on there.

I wish I had the opportunity to meet, learn, and connect with Norm, because the way you two speak about him, he's one of those guys.

and he did it he did it with the most loving of uh of language but uh he would always call me up and

he would say, you are a fat f**k. He would put the words together. He would be like, hey, you fat f**k.

Shanna, you got your marching orders. I know. Isn't that crazy? Oh, I know.

I don't know if any listeners have ever had this happen to them where a loved one came to them in their sleep or maybe came to them through. Like, Chelsea and our friend Leah and I were out at a restaurant, and Chelsea always says that her grandfather never comes to her. And we're having a really good conversation about our lives. And all of a sudden, What a Wonderful World, which was her song with her grandfather, literally starts playing. So it's amazing when stuff like that happens. And I said to her, and it's like, oh, yeah, you know, that's going on. So it could be something. It could be something coming to you. maybe it's me on the radio calling me a fat dad so um one of the funniest things ever with norm was uh norm purposely would say people's names wrong and he would purposely do it especially if there were somebody that was in like a powerful position so if they were and he would do it in a way of not trying to be a dick but trying to be a dick and uh our boss nick uh nick naugh oh my He would call him Nick Ganaw, because Nick's name was spelled G-N-A-U. How was his spelled? A-W?

G-N-A-U.

Yeah. So he would go, Nick Ganaw. I would go, Norm, don't ever do that. That's our boss. Be respectful.

How tall was Norm?

He was tall. He was real tall. Really? 6'2", 6'3", yeah. Big guy.

He's giving short vibes. No. No, he looked like Benjamin Franklin. That's what I was looking for in the photo you just sent me.

Oh, I just texted in because the dream you had was, you know, Norman, the dream. And I texted just to say that it wasn't a dream. It was definitely a sign.

Yeah. It felt so much like that.

It's okay. Yeah, so I had a friend that passed away in eighth grade. His name was Jordan, and we were in band together. And when we were, you know, we had these, all of us in our friend group, we were like, oh, when we were in high school, we were all going to be in marching band together. And the high school I went to, marching band was like a really big thing. We had over 200 people in the band. And so that next year, freshman year, after Jordan passed, I had this dream that I was in the auditorium before our marching band football game. And all of a sudden, out of the crowd of all these people in the uniforms, Jordan came up to me and he was in a marching band uniform. And he was like, I'm always like here with you guys. Wow. And it was amazing. And then actually our senior year, I had another dream about him. So my fans, we were lucky enough to play in the Outback Bowl. And before we did that, they got, like, this group picture of all of us standing up. And I had a dream that night that we were in the group picture, and I could see someone leaning over, like, trying to wave and get my attention. And when I looked over, it was Jordan waving.

Wow.

Man, that's amazing. Well, he's with you. He's there, and he's probably hopefully listening to this radio show right now. So shout out to Jordan for coming to you. Joshua, you actually had a dream last night about somebody that passed?

Well, it was last weekend. Good morning. Long story short is I was at a show and met a lady about spreading suicide awareness, and I lost my brother to suicide 14 years ago. That night, he came to me in my dream and said something has to be done. In a week, I have raised $30,000 worth of cheap parts and donations. For her cause.

Wow. That is incredible.

There's tears.

Buddy.

And people are amazing.

And she came to me and said, you need to spread her word.

Yeah. So I was really close with my grandma. This happened years ago, this dream, but I can still remember it. It was so vivid. I was living at home with my parents at the time, and I was in the basement. that was my where I was staying I had moved back home and um that's where they put me was the basement so um I had a dream that my grandparents they've always had a place up north in Higgins Lake so every summer all weekend that's that's where we spent our weekends and in this dream my grandpa at the time was still alive but he was in the dream and he had told me he's like go out back onto the patio grandma's outside and I'm like what you know because I in the dream I knew my grandma had passed so I was confused so I went out to the back patio and my grandma was sitting at the you know those like old school 60s wrought iron patio set yeah oh gosh kind of sort of yeah so that's the kind that they had it was in my dream she was sitting at it in the back patio summer day Higgins like I went out and sat next to her and she told me vividly she's like when you wake up I won't be here anymore so just sit here and stay with me wow and I am not I am not kidding you like I'm trying to not cry right now but um when I woke up I don't know if you guys ever had those dreams where you wake up and you're crying I woke up and I was hysterically crying I came upstairs and my mom it was early it was probably like six in the morning but my mom was up sitting at the kitchen table and she's like what is wrong and I said I just had the most vivid dream of grandma and she told me in the dream that when I woke up she was going to be gone and i did not want to wake up at all and i was just hysterically crying because it was so

real that's awesome by the way it's you know she's there she's right there with you and she was absolutely yeah what a what a cool situation to have happen uh this is pretty wild one because everybody's getting their loved ones who have already passed kylie your dad came to you in in your dream but he wasn't passed away yet no so we went I visited him in the hospital the day

before and he was supposed to get like a port in his lung he had pneumonia and cancer and all that stuff and so I was like okay I'll see you on Monday for your surgery so Saturday I went down to Great Wolf Lodge with my family so it was like two hours away and I woke up like at a beating sweat because my dad came to me and my dream said it's gonna be okay just take care of your sisters for me and i woke up at like 5 a.m i got a call at 6 a.m saying your dad's not doing good you need to get here now wow and we we rushed back said like said our goodbyes and like it just freaked me out and then a week later i had another dream with him and he's like just take care of your sisters that's all i asked man are you taking care of your sisters otherwise dad's gonna come back and haunt you yeah i've got two sisters so i take care of both of them what would you do

if your dad came to you and said i hid all the money in my sock drawer would you tell your

sisters probably the younger one not the older she's a spender i'm the oldest but the middle child is definitely a middle child thank you for the call i appreciate it they've taken over cities
