I'm Mungesha Tikalur and I'm back with a new season of my podcast, Skyline Drive. This time I talk to scientists, biopunks, curmudgeons, blues owners, super seniors, and Goa's top cryotherapy lab to try to understand this obsession with living forever and what it means for all of us. And I get into a bit of trouble along the way.

00:05:23 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 4:

Mojo in the morning show. Shannon, were you exhausted when this happened?

00:05:27 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

I've been exhausted all week. Yeah. I don't know what it is. The weather. You had to call me this morning because I was later than I normally, I could not wake up this morning.

00:05:36 - 00:05:43 | Speaker 4:

I don't ever remember Shannon oversleeping. She said that she did it just once, but I thought she was, she was a little bit late this morning. Yeah.

00:05:43 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 3:

It's so funny. I was literally six minutes later than I normally am. And you guys. But you're always early.

00:05:47 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 1:

I mean, look, when I pulled into the parking lot, usually I know Lydia's car is going to be there and Shannon's is next to her. I don't know. And I didn't see it. I was like, hmm.

00:05:55 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 3:

Boy, it is.

00:05:56 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. I also left her, her spot open too. I don't know if you noticed, did you park in that?

00:06:01 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 3:

You did.

00:06:02 - 00:06:07 | Speaker 4:

No, you did kind of take one of those spots. She'd typically park right next to the lady. Don't take her spots.

00:06:08 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 3:

Mojo, whenever he comes in after me, he always leaves that spot and parks one over. Do you know how I can tell he likes you more? He would never do that. He would never. It always makes me smile when I see that spot open.

00:06:20 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 4:

It's open and I put the, you know, and then I leave a little treat right at the front there. Like a mint on your pillow.

00:06:27 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

No dollar bill. Yesterday, though, I got home from the station. I had run a bunch of errands after the show and I had the kids with me yesterday. And when we got home, I was so freaking exhausted. I mean, it was to that point where I could barely keep my eyes open. And I'm like, if I don't lay down, the rest of my day is going to be wrecked. So I told them, I was like, you guys, can you watch, you know, like a movie, put on a movie or something for an hour so mom can take a nap? and they were both totally fine with that, which thank God they're at an age where I don't have to worry about them. Well, wrong, I do. When I woke up, I could not make this up. Smith's hair, he's seven, was purple. What? Bright purple hair. And I looked at him and I was like, Smith, what did you do? Because I'm thinking, I don't have anything in this house that he could do that to his hair with. he snuck purple hair dye spray i don't know from his dad's house that they had there to mine and just coated his whole head while i was sleeping oh my god i was like what in the actual f this child i swear and the best part is we had to go see katrina over at six salon like as soon as i woke up we walked in and she just like burst out laughing she's like smith what'd you do to

00:07:50 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 4:

your hair is it able to come out of her out of his hair before school it did come out i don't

00:07:54 - 00:07:59 | Speaker 3:

even know what it i still can't find whatever it is that he put in his hair he hid it but i know

00:07:59 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 4:

every parent i know every parent can relate to this when you fall asleep or you're not looking what did your kid do what did what did they do it's like oh my god you can't even leave him for a second or fall asleep for one second 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 call out the little Pain in the ass.

00:08:20 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

Here's the best part of this story, and I forgot to tell you guys this. So I, at some point when I was, I was literally asleep for less than an hour. He had also gone to his friend's house down the street, and apparently was this friend and his brother were selling corn from their family's farm. And he ended up on our neighborhood Facebook page selling corn. Look, I'm showing this to Megan. Selling corn with his bright purple hair. Oh, it's really cute.

00:08:52 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

I didn't even have to see the picture.

00:08:54 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 3:

I was dying. I'm like, so not only did he dye his hair, he went down the street and was selling corn during my nap. And ended up on our neighborhood Facebook page. Look at this. How long have I been in the app? Buy 12 for $5. One, I literally set my alarm for one hour from the time I went upstairs.

00:09:10 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 4:

All that in an hour? This kid is amazing.

00:09:12 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 3:

Died his hair, sold some corn.

00:09:13 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 4:

Did he get dyes, dye all over the place?

00:09:16 - 00:09:19 | Speaker 3:

Nothing. I don't know where this took place.

00:09:19 - 00:09:20 | Speaker 4:

Yeah.

00:09:20 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 3:

He took that time to go do whatever he wanted. Go ahead, Megan. I just think that this is payback for all of your days on work tour. Like, this is you.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 2:

Oh, that is purple.

00:09:32 - 00:09:36 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, for real, for real. Hey, Paul, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. What did your kid do?

00:09:36 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 2:

uh she was instead of going into kindergarten and she drew backwards fives and blue sharpie on her sister circled her nipples her butthole what were you doing were you were you sleeping yeah we were sleeping uh this was at like five o'clock in the morning oh my

00:10:00 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. How good were the circle around the butthole? Was it pretty good?

00:10:04 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, my God. It was horrible. It was bad.

00:10:09 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 6:

I always say as long as they don't draw on the walls of the furniture. What's up, Eve? How you doing?

00:10:13 - 00:10:31 | Speaker 3:

Hi. Yeah, when my son was about three, I came into the kitchen, and he's standing in front of the refrigerator with a carton of eggs and dropping them on the floor like water balloons. Just watching them explode Watching the eggs go everywhere I'm like what the heck are you doing

00:10:31 - 00:10:42 | Speaker 6:

It's one of those things where You're so angry about what just happened But you're going to look back on it one day Like today and be able to laugh a little bit at it That's great

00:10:42 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 3:

And then another time when I was I was just sitting there with him He's chewing gum and all of a sudden He whips it out of his mouth Pulls his hair up and puts it in his hair I'm like whoops

00:10:53 - 00:11:08 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. Speaking of hair, 734 says, oh, my God, 734 says, speaking of hair, she says, I fell asleep and woke up to my hair being cut. My son started clipping my hair with scissors.

00:11:08 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 8:

Okay, I would actually die.

00:11:10 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

That would be one of those ones where it's like, I'm sorry, but I got to get angry for a while on that one. A couple of other texters I want to grab here real quick. 313 says, woke up to my car being on in the driveway. Could you imagine that? Your kid just all of a sudden randomly takes your car. And then another person here says, woke up to magic marker all over my kitchen countertops. It's still there. What's up, Mike? How you doing?

00:11:39 - 00:11:40 | Speaker 5:

Doing good, Mojo. How are you?

00:11:41 - 00:11:47 | Speaker 6:

Fantastic. Shannon was so exhausted. She slept for one hour yesterday and then woke up to her son with purple hair. What do you got?

00:11:47 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 5:

my wife fell asleep for like 20 minutes on the couch my three-year-old we had an indoor um bought it from like jc penny it was like a cardboard fold open slide it was actually really sturdy it sounds bad but yeah it was an indoor slide for her so she had pooped her pants took off her diaper proceeded with poopy butt cheeks to slide down the slide then she took all of her barbies her barbie dream van that everything she had gotten for christmas that year and they all

00:12:21 - 00:12:30 | Speaker 4:

got to ride through the poop too she made a slip and slide yep so we uh we had spent like about

00:12:30 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 5:

a hundred and twenty dollars on this barbie this dream van and everything another 40 bucks on the

00:12:36 - 00:12:43 | Speaker 6:

slide and it all got to go to the garbage did you get pictures at least so you have that and

00:12:43 - 00:13:02 | Speaker 5:

My wife has a video of waking up to the mayhem, and it's pretty hilarious. My daughter's just sitting there, just like rubbing a Barbie back and forth through the poop on the slides, looking at her like she has done nothing wrong and discovered some great new games.

00:13:03 - 00:13:05 | Speaker 6:

New from Mattel.

00:13:06 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 1:

It's Mojo in the Mornings, back in the day. We give you clues. You tell us the year, we give you cool prizes.

00:13:13 - 00:13:32 | Speaker 7:

That's right. Back in the day, this is for a pair of sold-out tickets to see Jelly Roll. Three clues all happened in the same year. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. First clue, this is the year Kim Kardashian hated her sister's Japanese-inspired outfits.

00:13:32 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 2:

Like, it's actually embarrassing. Kourtney with the Japanese-inspired outfits and Khloe's wearing silver sequins, turquoise eyeshadow, huge chandelier earrings. They're just like completely clashing and just making my outfit look really bad and they're ruining everything.

00:13:50 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 7:

John Cena's starting to film Blockers.

00:13:53 - 00:14:02 | Speaker 1:

Just going through the laundry, found these new thongs. You know I love it when the music stops, but come and strip that down for me. Tonight, I'm tearing these out with my teeth like an old school cartoon billy goat.

00:14:03 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

Honey, Mitch, those are your daughters.

00:14:08 - 00:14:27 | Speaker 7:

And Look Alive was the big song with black boy Jay and Drake. Sold out tickets to see Jelly Roll at Little Caesars Arena November 6th. What year was it? Call us up, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:14:31 - 00:14:32 | Speaker 1:

You're smart.
